Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mojo in the morning.

00:02:59 - 00:03:00 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:03:22 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is so good to have you guys here with us today. What's happening? It's Thursday. War of the Roses happening this morning on the show. And coming up in less than an hour, actually 7 o'clock, the normal time on Thursdays for War of the Roses, a wife suspecting that her husband is cheating because a secret that he had kept for over a year and a half. And now That secret Has come Right up to the surface It always does Doesn't it I'm telling you I've learned this guys In all the years That I've been on this planet That You You don't lie And the reason why you don't lie Is because it's hard To keep track of them

00:04:37 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 2:

Right It's just so much easier To tell the truth

00:04:40 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah it's like Who did I tell that to Don't have to remember All the lies Yeah so I learned that pretty much in a good part of my life and that was right at the part where it could cost us. Alright, so if you would like to do War of the Roses and you think that your spouse is cheating on you, text cheater to 955.

00:05:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 6:

We now do it twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Man, oh man. The one from Tuesday. And this is the hardest part of doing a couple of these. People are going to start comparing. But the one from Tuesday might have been the most epic War of the Roses ever. I actually, believe it or not, got into a conversation yesterday with the archivers of the Mojo in the Morning Show. The people for the last 23 years, actually a listener of ours who's been listening for 23 years, who said that they thought that that War of the Roses might have been the most scandalous of all the War of the Roses. It was a three-way. If you haven't heard it yet, you can go check it out on our podcast. But I promise you, you know, every single one of them obviously has definitely a listenable feel to it. So, all right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. I'm going to say hello to everybody. Hello to Shannon. Good morning. Hello to Megan. Good morning. Hello to Mike.

00:06:01 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:06:02 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 6:

Hello to KP. How are you? I'm good. Hello to Lydia. Good morning. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Mike was talking to us a little bit about going grocery shopping yesterday and noticing that there was a little bit of nostalgia in the grocery store. And we all got into a debate of whether or not anybody is really that interested in that. What did you see when you were at Meijer yesterday?

00:06:31 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah, I'm packing up to go on this road trip next week. We're leaving tonight, actually. And we're getting groceries or whatever. They have now Chuck E. Cheese pepperoni pizza, but like in the frozen section.

00:06:47 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 5:

Stop it.

00:06:48 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you can buy. And then on the back, you get 200 free tickets.

00:06:52 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 5:

What? Oh, my God. I hope my kids don't see that. Although I will say, I actually like Chuck E. Cheese pizza.

00:06:58 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 4:

I thought it was so gross. I didn't think there was anything good about it.

00:07:01 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

But I'm not buying it to bring home from the grocery store.

00:07:05 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 6:

Chuck E. Cheese pizza was so, people loved it so much, Mike, that they had to make a possibility for you to be able to order it and take it out. Remember that was the big thing?

00:07:15 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

Was that just during the pandemic, though?

00:07:16 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if it was during just the pandemic, but I do remember this. I remember that there was a lot of people that, there was all kinds of things with Chuck E. Cheese pizza. I mean, we all remember, right? Remember the

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Shane Dawson documentary?

00:07:27 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, where he talked about how they re-served the pizza. They just re-established the pieces. But then there was the Chuck E. Cheese pizza so good, people would like bring a kid with them that wasn't even their kid to go into a Chuck E. Cheese go in and then get a pizza and then leave, you know? And people were like, why is that happening? And then they decided, okay, we got to figure this out. And then you're right, the pandemic they decided that they were going to do DoorDash or something like that.

00:07:52 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

But you guys, hear me out. This is the best case scenario because it's exactly the same pizza that they serve inside the restaurant.

00:08:00 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 5:

Probably. Well, yeah.

00:08:01 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 6:

They're all frozen.

00:08:03 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

They're not freshly made, you guys.

00:08:05 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 6:

I was like, what's going on? I never knew that. They don't actually have somebody back there that's just sitting there putting the cheese on it?

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely no way that those are freshly made. I will. No. Absolutely not.

00:08:16 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 6:

All right. So this is interesting. So they got Chuck E. Cheese pizza, But the story that's out this morning is about another place that's now putting their stuff in grocery stores. Did you see that Wendy's is now doing Wendy's canned chili that will be at grocery stores?

00:08:32 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

Is that what we're looking for, though? Yeah. When you think Wendy's, that's what you want to be sold in a grocery store is the chili. I mean, that is a popular item there.

00:08:41 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 3:

Is it for real? Yeah. It's very, yeah. I don't think I've ever gone to a Wendy's and thought, mmm, chili. Yeah. You've never been to a walleye game because, man, they give out free chili like there's no tomorrow.

00:08:52 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, is that what the thing is? Do you score certain goals or a chili?

00:08:56 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

That's what I do. I love it.

00:08:59 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 6:

So this is wild. So Wendy says, Wendy's founder, Dave Thomas, created a delicious menu item that stood the test of time when they were trying to figure out how they could not throw away any unused meat that they had. That wasn't sold or hadn't been cooked. So they decided to add a chili item to the menu. And that chili item on the menu actually turned out to be a big win for them.

00:09:27 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

An ex-boyfriend of mine worked for Wendy's for the longest time. And he said that was his job at the end of the night, was to chop up all the unused meat so that they could throw it in a chili for the next day.

00:09:36 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so we got that. I know that they sell White Castle burgers, too, in the frozen section. Which, by the way, we have White Castle here. so it doesn't make a difference but people who don't live in a place with a white castle like i know when i lived in arizona white castle was you know sliders were like the big thing that everybody wanted people would go to the store and buy that stuff and they they loved it and they would have

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

that as their dinner you know i feel so judged because all of these items except for the uh

00:10:05 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 4:

chicken cheese pizza yeah don't you have a hack with the white castle sliders me i feel like you had like a secret recipe you add something to it or something yeah you just throw as many into the

00:10:16 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 5:

microwave as makes you physically ill and then you eat them all in question you know what i wish

00:10:22 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

they would put in the grocery store is the bacon gouda sandwich from starbucks that's my favorite And Costco claims to have, like, a dupe of it. It is not good at all. It tastes like the wrapper.

00:10:35 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 3:

That and the egg bites are awful.

00:10:37 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 4:

I don't mind the egg bites, actually, but the bacon good eyes.

00:10:40 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 3:

They sell the egg bites at the store? They do. They sell them. They don't sell the Starbucks egg bites. They sell, if you go to a store, you can find egg bites. They're just not the same. I don't think we have the appropriate way to heat them up. You know, put them in a microwave kind of makes them gross. The other one is, what about McDonald's french fries? Like you can get Orida fries or whatever it is And you can heat them up

00:11:01 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

You can get Rally's fries Or Rally's fries

00:11:04 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

That makes sense Those make sense The chili does not The pepperoni pizza from Chuck E. Cheese Doesn't make sense Why not do Frosties or French fries

00:11:16 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Well Frosties is another one Why would they go right to the chili And not do a Frosty Which to me is their item

00:11:23 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Remember when TGI Fridays released the line of all of their like their alcoholic or their cocktail mixers like the mud slides and all that stuff i don't think you can buy that stuff anymore but when you should do something like that yeah like where you could make it in your blender or something what needs to be carried

00:11:41 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

in stores i know that they do have chick-fil-a sauce right you can go buy the bottle of the

00:11:46 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 5:

chick-fil-a sauce you can buy a bottle of taco bell hot sauces because you know i've really sat in a drive-thru before and thought, I need an entire pint of this.

00:11:54 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 3:

They actually sell that? I didn't know that. Taco Bell will sell the, they bottle the sauces.

00:12:00 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and Panda Express bottles all of their sauces, too.

00:12:02 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

Interesting, because I know that they do have the Taco Bell shells, and they'll have the Taco Bell seasoning and all the rest of that.

00:12:07 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

You know what I saw McDonald's is doing now, too? The Big Mac sauce. Oh, man. The Dipping Sauce, the Big Mac Dipping Sauce.

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 5:

It's also just called Thousand Island.

00:12:16 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 4:

Their sweet and sour taste is different than anything else. I wish they would sell that.

00:12:21 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Kyle, what's going on, buddy? Hey, good morning. I want you guys to meet Kyle. Kyle is a huge Mojo in the Morning listener. And yesterday, as we're talking about food and what food you want to have there, both Kyle and I were sitting in a waiting room at Michigan Medicine U of M Hospital in the cardiology department because both of us have heart issues. What's going on, Kyle? How are you?

00:12:44 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 6:

I'm good this morning. Like you said, I'm a long-time listener. and I'm happy to be on here with you guys live, man. It's like a surreal feeling.

00:12:53 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 3:

This guy was so cute with his kids. He brought his kids with him because he had an appointment, and his kids were so good. Like, they behaved themselves better than any kid. Your kids behave themselves better than these guys do here. So I just want you to know that.

00:13:06 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, thank you. I was raised the correct way. My mom didn't really allow us to run around too much, like, out in public. So I give a lot of credit to that.

00:13:17 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. Hey, quick question for you, and don't tell your doctor we're talking about this, but Chuck E. Cheese Pizza, Wendy's Chili, or we'll go Chick-fil-A sauce. Out of the three, which one would be in your cart at a grocery store?

00:13:36 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 6:

I'm really big on the canned stuff, so I'm kind of excited for the chili, honestly. Yeah. I like the Denny Moore Beach stews.

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yes. Yeah, I'm a Hormel Chili girl.

00:13:47 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 6:

sand but i'm kind of like the sand i'm sorry yeah kyle did your doctor not talk to you about sodium and how you had to keep your sodium down yes that's uh that's one of my failures that in

00:13:58 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 3:

the water intake yeah well it was great meeting you yesterday buddy you're you're awesome and

00:14:04 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 6:

very wonderful uh thank you for the picture and uh i'm a i'm a celebrity and a hero to my kids for that because i we i listen every day i love it go green yes of course go white always

00:14:17 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 3:

Big Michigan State fan, too. It was good to get a chance to meet him. Yesterday was the first time I've gone into Michigan, University of Michigan Hospital, without a mask on. And I realized how great it is to not have a mask on because then people start coming up to you and say, hey, I listen to you. What's going on? Before, when you would wear the mask, I just looked like a fat guy with a mask. What's going on? Now I'm just a fat guy without a mask. What's up, Jackie? How you doing?

00:14:42 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 1:

Stop it. Oh, I was just calling in. And I figured Megan would be excited. Not only does Taco Bell sell their sauces, you can get Arby's sauce and the Arby's three pepper sauce at the store, too, now.

00:14:55 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 3:

Hell, yeah.

00:14:56 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Hell, yeah.

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Do they sell everything?

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 2:

else to make like a sandwich like do they sell the curly fries because i love the curly fries

00:15:03 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 3:

i love them too oh i think they do i don't know if they do the curly fries i know they have the checkers fries which are the curly fries yeah almost good the other thing too at arby's that's

00:15:13 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 2:

great is the shakes their uh giardelli chocolate shake and their jamocha shakes are like the best taken forever oh my god so freaking good i know what's up ryan how you doing uh pretty good how Good. This shows you how good Wendy's chili is. Ryan, what's your story?

00:15:31 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 5:

So, one day I entered a chili cook-off and me and the boys went and got a little too tipsy the night before. I forgot to get anything for the chili cook-off. So, I went and bought $40 worth of chili and put it in a crock pot and entered into a chili cook-off and won it. No! Oh, that's funny. So my wife and my mother-in-law both entered into the chili cook-off, and somehow they was wondering how I won it because my wife was like, would you cook? I said, pick a recipe.

00:16:11 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. That is such a great story. Listen to this. Listeners are texting in with their things that they love the most. Annie's pretzels. So if they carry those in stores, I don't think that they do. I don't know. Jimmy John's Ranch. I've never actually noticed that the ranch at Jimmy John's was good. I'll have to try that next time. They say that they sell Buffalo Wild Wings sauces in stores. I know they sell it in their own stores. I don't know if it's in the grocery stores. And then, if you're an Olive Garden fan, Amy, what is it?

00:16:40 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 4:

We need their breadsticks and the frozen sexes. Oh, that's a great idea.

00:16:46 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm surprised that it's not at least like a Costco or Sam's Club, you know?

00:16:52 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 6:

It would be the best idea ever. We've gotten them as carry-out and, like, baked them at home before from the restaurant, so they need to jump on this idea. They would make so much money.

00:17:02 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever notice that you could get them as, you know, a to-go, put them in your to-go box, and days later, they still have a little bit of softness to them, which makes me wonder what's inside of those breadsticks?

00:17:15 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 6:

Well, at this point, nothing is good for you to eat. Correct. Yeah. Yeah.

00:17:19 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 2:

And people are calling out Megan right now. Why are you not saying anything from Raising Cane's? because you're such a fan.

00:17:26 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

I didn't think they sold raisin cane sauce.

00:17:29 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 2:

Do they have the raisin cane sauce?

00:17:31 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 3:

There was a disgruntled employee once who posted the recipe online. Let me tell you, it is the actual recipe if you find it. Oh, so you could just make it homemade. It's real easy.

00:17:44 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 2:

Zaline, they do have Arby's french fries at stores?

00:17:47 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 3:

They do. They do.

00:17:49 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 6:

They're so good, too.

00:17:51 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. Check that out. in the frozen food station.

00:17:53 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 4:

Where have you seen them?

00:17:55 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 6:

I've seen them at...

00:17:57 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 2:

Not Trader Joe's.

00:17:58 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 6:

I've seen them at Meyers, too. Okay.

00:18:02 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's where you got to go. You got to go to the big box stores. They always get it first. And then this one might be the best one. David?

00:18:09 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, good morning, everybody. Good morning, man.

00:18:12 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 2:

We're getting hungry talking about all this stuff.

00:18:15 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I am, too. I just got off of work. They should have red lobster biscuits in the frozen aisle. I thought they do.

00:18:23 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 2:

Do they? Yeah, you can make them, I think. You can make them?

00:18:27 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 3:

They're like in the frozen section, you bake them. Really? Yeah.

00:18:31 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 2:

I did not know that.

00:18:33 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to have to check it out next time. Oh, they sure do.

00:18:36 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 4:

Walmart. Walmart Meyer have them.

00:18:38 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 2:

That and T says Texas Roadhouse bread, right?

00:18:45 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 6:

Yes. They have the best bread ever with their butter.

00:18:50 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 2:

With their honey butter. Is it just as good when you do it at home?

00:18:54 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 6:

It is, but you have to do it the right way. You have to put it in either the air fryer or the oven.

00:18:59 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 2:

The air fryer has made everything so much better that you heat up or bring home.

00:19:05 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 4:

I love that air fryer.

00:19:06 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 2:

I want one so bad.

00:19:06 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 4:

I use mine like every day. I do too. I cannot believe I waited so long to buy one.

00:19:11 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 2:

And Ari, this is a great one for dessert. What is it?

00:19:15 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 6:

I need that Cinnabon cream cheese icing in the sauce.

00:19:19 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 2:

I just want it, honestly.

00:19:21 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 4:

Wait, I think we need to order Cinnabon.

00:19:23 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 2:

I want Cinnabon icing just as soup. Wait, can we DoorDash Cinnabon?

00:19:27 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, but now it's in my head. I hate that you guys have a Cinnabon.

00:19:32 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:19:32 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 3:

It makes me so jealous.

00:19:33 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 2:

Next time everybody's here, we'll do a Cinnabon day. We'll all just go to the food court and go hang out.

00:19:39 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:19:44 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 2:

It was the year that Miley Cyrus went on tour as Hannah Montana, and it was the hardest ticket to get.

00:19:51 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 5:

The first day, I didn't really know what was going on. I just heard, okay, well, it's sold out in, you know, less than a half hour. We were just freaking out.

00:19:58 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Bob Barker stepped down as the host.

00:20:00 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 3:

host of The Price is Right.

00:20:01 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

Now, folks, I want to thank you very, very much for inviting me into your home for the last 50 years.

00:20:11 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 3:

And Neo had the big song on the radio. What year was it? We'll set you up with dinner, lunch, or whatever from Red Robin, a $50 Red Robin cash card. Good luck.

00:20:26 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 4:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-Live. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings. Back in the day. What year was this?

00:20:41 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 3:

It was the year that Hannah Montana went on tour. Sold out like Taylor Swift is selling out now.

00:20:47 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 1:

The first day I didn't really know what was going on. I just heard, okay, well it's sold out in less than a half hour. We were just freaking out.

00:20:54 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 3:

And it has, of course, spurred on Miley Cyrus to then become just a superstar artist. Bob Barker. I don't know if even our listeners, do you remember when Bob Barker was on The Price is Right? It's been so long. He left The Price is Right this year.

00:21:10 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 4:

I want to thank you very, very much for inviting me into your home for the last 50 years. I am deeply grateful.

00:21:20 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was a good one. Where were you in 2007?

00:21:52 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 4:

00:21:54 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:22:36 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 3:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending. Start off the morning with Shannon's Dirty on the 30.

00:22:41 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 2:

I am following this drama so hard. Top Gun Maverick star Glenn Powell. What is going on with him and White Lotus star Sidney Sweeney?

00:22:50 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 3:

I heard you bring this up the other day, and I was thinking to myself, I'm like, hold on. I'm going to look him up real quick. What's his name again? The really hot one. The really hot? Okay. Well, all right.

00:22:59 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

No, Glenn Powell is his name. Glenn Powell. He played Hangman.

00:23:04 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he was like the guy that kind of comes.

00:23:07 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 2:

He started off as a jerk.

00:23:08 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 3:

He comes around in the end, right?

00:23:09 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep.

00:23:10 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 3:

Spoiler alert.

00:23:11 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, okay. Let's start with this, though. Glenn's girlfriend, Gigi Paris, who is gorgeous, by the way. Well, she was definitely hinting that they had broken up when she shared a video of herself walking alone on Instagram yesterday with the caption, know your worth, and on to the next. I mean, if that didn't say it, I don't know what did. So speculation grew about Glenn's chemistry with his upcoming rom-com co-star, Sydney, who is engaged, by the way, if you're wondering her relationship status, when Gigi, Glenn's girlfriend, unfollowed Sidney on social media. But a source tells me the couple who started dating back in 2019 actually called it quits several weeks ago before all of these flirty instances with Sidney started going around the internet. And a source telling me they've actually been on the rocks since Top Gun came out. They had a really tough time when he was filming that movie and it's just been rocky ever since. Jack Harlow fans, this is big news for you. He just announced a surprise new album. It's called Jackman. And it's coming fast. It's coming tomorrow. So it will serve as his third full-length project. And you don't have to wait very long for it. The Interpump Rules star Tom Sandoval getting kind of angry when a paparazzo asked him if he had seen Raquel Levis in Arizona while he was there. He got livid on social media because the spa hotel where he was staying, actually it was Miraval Mojo. I know we've talked about this before. It's like a very fancy retreat that a lot of celebrities go to to kind of get away and get some R&R.

00:24:51 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 3:

I lived in Tucson for many years and used to do radio. And we used to set up shop outside where Miraval was.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 7:

would come to town and come down. There was, like, one road to get in and out. Yep. And it was our way of trying to get celebrity interviews.

00:25:06 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, he was there, and they made a post on Instagram hinting to the fact that he was a guest, and so Raquel was also in Arizona. Oh, they never do that. So people were trying to put two and two together.

00:25:15 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to just tell you, Raquel is in a mental facility. Okay. No visitors, okay? She's there. Whether she decides to tell you where that is after the fact, that's where Raquel is. No visitors, no friends, no family, okay? No phone? No nothing. I went to a resort. Okay.

00:25:34 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 5:

Wow. It just sounds like such a jerk.

00:25:36 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 6:

It seems like such not his place to give that information out.

00:25:40 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 5:

No.

00:25:41 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 7:

Wow. So it's wild that that place, which, by the way, prides themselves into never letting you know when celebrities are in town.

00:25:50 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 5:

They didn't necessarily say he was there. They made this Instagram post with, like, if you watch the show, it's, like, something that you would know from watching the show. And that's why everybody was like, oh, that's where he is. So it was obvious. President Joe Biden brought a cheat sheet with him to a press conference yesterday, and everybody's freaking out about this. It basically shows that he has advanced knowledge of journalist questions from time to time. This cheat sheet in particular showed a photo of LA Times reporter Courtney Sabremian, a guide on how to pronounce her name, and the question that she was going to ask the president. Now, a lot of people do this. This is why this is not that shocking to me. Talk show hosts do it. Politicians do it. But everybody was up in arms that the president has this sort of teet seat.

00:26:37 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 7:

The part that they, I think, also thought was a little weird was he had the names of all of his cabinet members on there and where they were sitting so that he knew exactly where to direct certain questions as well.

00:26:50 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 5:

Also yesterday, the president commenting on concern over his age following his announcement that he is running in 2024.

00:26:55 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 1:

with regard to age i can't even say i guess how old i am i can't even say the number it doesn't it doesn't register with me the only thing i can say is that one of the things that people are going to find out they're going to see a race and they're going to judge whether or not i have or don't have it i respect them taking a hard look at it i take a hard look at it as well i took a

00:27:17 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 5:

hard look at it before I decided to run and I feel good. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday. And lastly, I will leave you with this. Disney has released the full recording of Halle Bailey's version of part of your world from the new live action Little Mermaid that hits theaters on May 26th. Here you come.

00:27:47 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 6:

Flipping your fins, you don't get too far. Legs are required for jumping, dancing. Strolling along down a, what's that word again? Street. Up where they walk, up where they run. Up where they stay all day in the sun.

00:28:10 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 7:

So good.

00:28:11 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 6:

She's so good. I can't wait to see it. I wish I could be part of that world.

00:28:16 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 5:

00:28:32 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Home of the War of the Roses, Bustin' Cheaters, Throwback Throwdown, Second Date Update, and the Dirty on the 30. So you had Lucy's play musical last night, is that right?

00:28:49 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 5:

She had a music concert.

00:28:51 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 7:

Music concert?

00:28:51 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 5:

Yep, so the third and fourth graders, or third, fourth, and fifth graders at her elementary school, you know, they learned little songs and music class throughout the year, and so last night was their big concert, and she was so excited for it.

00:29:05 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 7:

What kind of songs? Are they, like, current songs? Yeah, so they did... Was there a theme to it at all?

00:29:09 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 5:

They did a, they did Kacey Musgraves' Rainbow. They did Lean on Me. They did, I'm trying to think of the other songs Lucy did. Hang on, I have a little thing.

00:29:20 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 3:

I love these so much.

00:29:21 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 5:

I love, like, literally, and I cry so hard. She did, they did All You Need Is Love. She did a little solo talking about Martha Reeves and the civil rights movement before introducing Dancing in the Street. And it was so dang cute, Mike, because I've heard her practice this like 110 times. And so for her to get up there on stage and actually do it all by herself was so sweet. But the very, okay, so I'm sitting there and let me just tell you, we took up a whole row, our little cheering section for Lucy. It was me, my fiance, Wes, my mom, my sister, my niece, Stella, our old babysitter and her fiance, Andrew. His fiance and her two kids Literally had the whole row So we're all like waiting For this thing to start So all the little third graders Come on stage With their matching shirts The very first song they sang And if you have been listening To this radio program For a long time You know the significance Of this song And also why I slouched Very low in my seat Was this one You got friends in me

00:30:25 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh no

00:30:26 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 5:

All of a sudden I could feel Wes Slowly turn to me With his big Spin-eating grin on his face He goes How's this feel

00:30:44 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 3:

How's it feel That your daughter

00:30:48 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 5:

Is singing the song That was playing in the background When you lost your virginity Isn't that hysterical You guys

00:30:55 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 2:

That is actually very funny

00:30:57 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 5:

And I didn't know they were singing that one I knew that she was singing Dancing in the Street Because obviously she had to practice the solo for it

00:31:05 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 2:

That's the thing with having music Or even like television on in the background When you're fooling around And then there's the significance of the fooling around Because every time that you then listen to that song Or, you know, watch a TV show or something like that

00:31:26 - 00:31:30 | Speaker 5:

What were you doing, watching Toy Story? We had watched Toy Story

00:31:30 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 6:

The credits to Toy Story

00:31:32 - 00:31:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it just made us frisky

00:31:34 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 6:

That's very funny

00:31:38 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 2:

Is there something that you remember When you lost your virginity, okay

00:31:46 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 5:

Are you talking about me specifically or anybody?

00:31:48 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 2:

No, no, I'm not asking any more about that Because I don't want to embarrass you any more than you got But do you guys remember, was there a song playing or what was going on? You had The Office on?

00:31:57 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 6:

It's always The Office.

00:32:00 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:32:01 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 5:

So every time you hear the theme, does it make you think about that? I mean, it doesn't remind me of that.

00:32:04 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 6:

I just know that everybody's got that same office in the background. It's past midnight and you're watching The Office. No more comments after this.

00:32:15 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 3:

I do think somewhere we're conditioned with The Office or with the Netflix sound. the doom yeah somewhere some way somebody someday is gonna go oh man i'm excited i don't know why i'm excited right now but that noise just went off mine's worse what was that i was listening to

00:32:31 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 4:

the station that i'm on 92.5 kiss fm and my co-worker was on the air so i was like gosh megan my co-worker was the voice of me losing my virginity oh geez weird did you ever tell your

00:32:43 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 2:

co-worker oh he knows he thinks it's hysterical i've for some reason it i don't recall it wasn't you give love a bad name or wanted dead or alive, but I think that there was, there was a Bon Jovi song on when I lost my virginity. And if I'm not, and I joked to my friends that when I lost my virginity and I think that it was one of those songs that was like, lay your hands on me or something like, like it was some Bon Jovi song that was on in the background, but that was because Bon Jovi, every girl loved Bon Jovi back then for some reason that they were all excited about Bon jovi but that's so funny that you go to you go to your child's this warm and fuzzy cool moment with a whole row of fam there uh and you got that going on and and if anybody that's there is a listener of the show and a hardcore listener of the show they know that's part of our mojo in the morning history yeah that's that's very very funny 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 um the other thing that we could actually ask this question about is who was watching like a show like toy story like an animated disney show when they lost their virginity well so my show no well so my boyfriend

00:33:53 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 5:

and his family really but they were huge huge huge huge disney fans so i felt like that was just always on like there was something disney always on in his household yeah laura what's up hi good

00:34:07 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

morning good morning yours kind of funny what movie was on when you lost your virginity

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 1:

Space Jam.

00:34:14 - 00:34:15 | Speaker 2:

Such a good movie, though.

00:34:15 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 1:

And then it became a joke, and, like, he kept buying me things from the movie and, like, leaving them at my parents' house and stuff. It was pretty funny.

00:34:22 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 2:

The funniest is all I remember for the song was that R. Kelly song. That R. Kelly song was that I Believe I Can Fly or whatever.

00:34:29 - 00:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. There's so many puns with that movie. Oh, my gosh. Space Jam?

00:34:33 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 1:

I know.

00:34:34 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:34:35 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

The funniest part is, I guess, is I also got pregnant, so. Oh, no. Okay. All right.

00:34:41 - 00:34:45 | Speaker 5:

Does your child have a name that's related to the movie in any way? Michael Jordan.

00:34:45 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 2:

That's what we're calling the child now. What's up, Megan? Hi. Hey, what was on?

00:34:51 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, I didn't lose my virginity, but when me and my husband first got together, I had left him at the house, and he had told me that all that night my brother was getting it on.

00:35:00 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

I went on with some girl to the Awimawak Lion King song, but it was on repeat. Yes.

00:35:06 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, it is a good rhythm.

00:35:14 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, Kelly? How you doing? Hi. Good morning. Good morning. What was on, Kelly, when you lost the virginity?

00:35:25 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 4:

Alien vs. Predator. Oh.

00:35:27 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 2:

that that's interesting one because of it's it's you know kind of a little bit more like uh you know action-packed right right but you don't you don't have it on and you don't have it on watching it right it's not like one of those things where you're looking over your shoulder

00:35:45 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 3:

or he's looking over his shoulder to check it out no i think that's why mine was never a tv show it was always just the intro to the play you know when playstation is just on and it makes that It's just that noise Because if a show was on, my ADD would kick in And I would try to watch the show too And I'd be trying to watch everything that was on

00:36:04 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 2:

I remember one time My wife actually getting upset with me Trying to put romantic music on I would put on our sister station WNIC because they would have Love songs and stuff like that That would play later in the night And so I decided that instead what I was going to do Is I just put the TV on And the problem was it would always be ESPN Or something like that So, da-na-na, da-na-na was playing in the background at the time that you're fooling around. What's up, Emily? How you doing?

00:36:38 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 1:

How are you? Good.

00:36:39 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 2:

Good. What was on?

00:36:41 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 4:

So, it wasn't on initially, but I think sometime in the making-up process, we rolled over the remote, and suddenly, all I could hear was the George Lopez beanstalk. That was funny. So random. So funny. When they're jumping across the stream That woke us all up at 2 o'clock in the morning Cheat and you'll get caught

Take care. Is he down today? Is he upset?

00:43:04 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 1:

He's in the car on the way to school.

00:43:05 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. By the way, I would never even be up enough to be able to do this at this time. It's just too early if I was in high school.

00:43:14 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the mornings 5 at 6.55. Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:43:24 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 2:

Carrie Lynn thinks that her husband is cheating. And what was your tip off on that?

00:43:29 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 3:

I think my husband's cheating because his friend got busted for cheating on his wife. And my husband has been hanging out with his friend and this mistress for well over a year, a year and a half. So I think he's guilty by association.

00:43:47 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 2:

And wait, he never told you over the last year, year and a half that his friend has been cheating? that his friend was out cheating on his wife no how did you find out because the ex-wife told me oh so he he is now divorced yes and your husband's been covering up an affair that his friend has been having basically living a life with this guy and even though this guy was a married guy

00:44:18 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes So my question to you is That does say a lot about your husband's character Unfortunately But where in your mind Are you thinking that he was cheating on you During that time

00:44:32 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 3:

Well if he's hanging out With his friends Uh huh Well What's going to stop him from doing it And if he's not told me about this For like over a year

00:44:47 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

a year and a half has he ever been in situations where he could be cheating like with his buddy like going on guys weekends or doing anything like that oh yeah they go out together

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 3:

do stuff together all the time as friends.

00:45:02 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 2:

So your belief is that if he's going away with his buddy and his buddy's bringing his girl.

00:45:08 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 3:

And he's keeping a secret for his buddy, maybe his buddy's keeping a secret for him.

00:45:11 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and he's not... I get that. That's interesting. I get that fear.

00:45:14 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

00:45:15 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so have you ever questioned your husband about the fact that he potentially, you know, you don't trust him, that now you don't trust him because of this?

00:45:26 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:45:27 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 2:

And what did he do?

00:45:30 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 1:

well of course he denied and said it wasn't him that he wasn't doing that

00:45:35 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

do you believe him

00:45:37 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

00:45:38 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

so you don't believe him alright here's what we're going to do we're going to find out what's going on we're calling up your husband we're hoping that he sends the flowers to Carrie Lynn it's the mojo in the morning war of the roses mute your phone

00:45:54 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 1:

Totally free. We'll take less than 30 seconds. Okay?

00:46:48 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

All right. Yeah, okay.

00:46:50 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay, have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Zach?

00:46:54 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:46:55 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:46:59 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

Not really, no.

00:47:01 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 3:

We're going to provide you with one dozen long-stemmed red roses. They can be shipped out as early as today. Who are you sending them to? Yep.

00:47:25 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 1:

Uh, Carrie, Lynn.

00:47:28 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And, Zach, we can also include a card with a message on it. What did you want that card to say, and then I'll sign it for you.

00:47:39 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 1:

Um, love you so much, Zachary.

00:47:45 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Zach, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:47:52 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 1:

Uh, yeah, I guess. Sure.

00:47:54 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Zach, I also need to inform you of a couple of things here. And, okay, a little laughing. I wondered if this was the case. Zach, this is the Mojo in the Morning show. And I kind of had a wonder if that was the case. And you're on the War of the Roses, and thank God you sent the flowers to your wife.

00:48:22 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

Who else would I send them to?

00:48:23 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 2:

well that's the question that was the question yeah um zach we uh we have carrie lynn on with us right now too carrie lynn hi hello zach i just want to ask a couple quick questions if you don't mind we were having a little discussion with carrie lynn and she was telling us and i'm not going to get too much into it because it's obviously their business but about a friend of yours that just recently went through a divorce and it was because he had been cheating on his wife and you kind of know who the friend is that I'm talking about yeah and you spent a lot

00:49:08 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 3:

of time with that friend and the girl he was cheating with and that's making your wife pretty

00:49:15 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 2:

uncomfortable still I don't tell my friends secrets so you you never told your wife is what you're saying because it was a friend's secret yeah okay but can you understand take a step back

00:49:34 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 3:

and understand where she's coming from of all of those nights that you were out with this guy all of the you know the guy's weekends or trips away that you were with this guy and her brain is is spinning going well if he's keeping a secret for his body is his body keeping

00:49:51 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 1:

a secret for him yeah i guess i can see that yeah so you can't fault her for being a little bit worried about that.

00:50:05 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 3:

I guess not. Carrie Lynn, you want to say anything?

00:50:10 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad I'm getting the flowers.

00:50:12 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you're happy about the flowers. That's good. I got one last question I want to ask you, Zach, and I know this may make you feel uncomfortable. Your wife told us that you guys would do a lot of guys trips out of town and that this girlfriend would go with? Yeah. Was it weird to bring somebody's girlfriend on a trip like this without you bringing your wife? Yeah, it was. So did any other guys go on this trip and not bring wives or girlfriends or anything like that?

00:50:58 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 2:

I can't answer that.

00:50:59 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 3:

All right, Carrie Lynn, we're going to get those flowers off to you. We got your information. Okay, and I'm going to let you guys talk off the air right now.

00:51:12 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 1:

Thanks.

00:51:12 - 00:51:13 | Unknown:

All right.

00:51:16 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Very interesting. Comments? Thoughts? Is it okay to keep a secret like that from your spouse, from your wife? About a friend and they're cheating or is that just being a good friend? We'll be right back.

Mojo in the Morning. Cheat. We'll catch you. You are such a piece of crap. It's the world famous War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:59 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 3:

Bojo in the morning Recap you And you can listen to the podcast of it too To actually hear it again But War of the Roses Just moments ago A wife suspected that her husband was cheating Her suspicion came Because he had kept His best friend's secret About cheating on his wife from his wife for over a year and a half until his best friend ended up going through some marital problems and then we just called did the flowers uh and he sent them to his wife but then when we asked the question which listen i'm not going to say the guy's a cheater because i don't want to go crazy but i i know that you guys probably have an opinion on this but We asked him the questions about the best friend and the best friend and this girl and all that stuff. And why would you not say anything? And then he comes back with, well, you know, I'm with my friend. I'm a good friend. The whole deal. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. 844-665-6548. Great. There was one call that I wanted to get, and I don't know if it just switched off of here. There was somebody. Jennifer. Jennifer has a point that I would like to start off with. Hi, Jennifer.

00:53:35 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:53:36 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Jennifer, what do you think about the fact that he didn't tell his wife that his best friend was cheating?

00:53:41 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, ideally, you know, husbands and wives want to think that they share everything with each other. But I don't feel in this case it meant that he condoned it. You know, she made a point to say that she actually found out from the ex-wife, which would lead you to believe that they're friends. And so imagine you tell your wife, she tells her friend if you're going by the friend code, and then you're part of somebody else's business that you really don't want to be.

00:54:08 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:54:09 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 2:

Um, you know, and so, yeah, I mean, you don't, you don't believe, you don't believe a secret

00:54:14 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 3:

like that is big enough where you should probably tell your, your wife, you know, um, if you've

00:54:20 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 2:

ever been a part of a specific situation like that, it often can blow up in your own face. So sometimes it is best just to stay out.

00:54:27 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 3:

So he, so you don't believe that he's necessarily cheating.

00:54:29 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

I think, so I, I actually agree with the majority of what you were saying. I think the line that he probably should have drawn for, you know, so that it didn't blow up in his face like it it now is is the the going on trips knowing that this woman was going to be there the going out to the bar or whatever knowing that this woman was going to be there it's one thing to know and that sucks in itself but it's another thing then to be seen in public or to be part of like you know like was said by association yeah hanging out with

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 2:

them and spending time with them annette you wanted to make a comment just like that right

00:55:04 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 5:

listen he is cheating first of all i really believe that he knew that it was the war of the roses because of the way he was talking and laughing second of all no man i don't care how good a friend you are if he's got his girlfriend you've got your girlfriend i know this from personal experience because when i was married this is a net alias count when i was married when i was married my husband used to hang out with his single friends and his single friends had girlfriends and he had a girlfriend too so there is no way in heck that he is going on these little trips with his friend, and he's the third wheel. No, it's the fourth wheel in that room, too. Yeah, like,

00:55:57 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 2:

why is she going, and she's the only person? And then when I asked that question, he was very sketchy with his answer. It's like mice, Annette, alias Kim, whatever it is. It's like mice where there's one, there's many,

00:56:11 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 5:

right? There's a bunch of them. Exactly. Yeah.

00:56:15 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 2:

Denise, Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:56:18 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 6:

hello denise hi hi i'm calling because i think he's definitely cheating if my fiance was on this trip i think he would have texted me like immediately oh my god my friend is cheating but don't say anything and i wouldn't have said anything but i know he would have told me

00:56:39 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 2:

immediately you guys share everything with each other right like that i will say this i think that you have to otherwise you know what ends up happening your wife thinks you're cheating or your fiance your your fiance thinks you're cheating if you don't say anything it's not you doing the cheating but if you don't say anything at all then it looks like you're keeping secrets you know

00:56:58 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 6:

sketchy behavior exactly yeah also if the girlfriend's on the chair on the trip i mean why can't she be invited also i would be invited if other girls were there exactly exactly that's

00:57:11 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm shocked that hasn't been brought up yet. It's like everybody had a girl but him.

00:57:17 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Lisa, you don't buy that either?

00:57:21 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 4:

No, I listen to you guys all the time. First, I think he knew it was Ward of Roses. Second, there's no way he went on trips with these guys. And he said to your last question that some of the other friends have brought women. He had a woman with him. There's no way he was by himself. I don't believe it, and she shouldn't be happy about getting those flowers.

00:57:44 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 1:

That's why I don't hang out with other dudes, by the way. I just do my own thing. Just chill at home, play video games. You don't ever have to worry about it then.

00:57:51 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 7:

Guilty by association.

00:57:54 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Julie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. If you just missed it, a wife suspicious that her husband was cheating because he was keeping his friends cheating secret. What's up?

00:58:05 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so I disagree with everyone else.

00:58:07 - 00:58:08 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:58:08 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 7:

So even though I understand her worry, and yes, he probably should have told his wife about the other friend cheating, but I don't agree with the association word. Guilt by association. Thank you. Thank you. I think she jumped the gun, and I don't think he's cheating. And why do you say that? Well, like I said, I don't agree with the guilty by association. Okay. Yes, he should have told her. He said that the D-bag had a girl with him, but that doesn't mean he's cheating. Okay.

00:58:46 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you this? I don't necessarily think he's cheating until he got sketchy on people inviting girls with them. That worried me. Up until that point, the guy, you know what? I thought, okay, you know what he is? You're a dumb guy. He's a dumb guy or a very good friend. He's a better friend probably than he is a husband in the fact that he doesn't know that he's going to be raked over the coals by his wife for not telling her about this. But then when he got a little sketchy at the end, that scared the crap out of me. And to be perfectly honest with you, that was where my red flags went off. Did we give this person this name or is this really your name? Is your real name Bozo?

00:59:31 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 3:

Bozo's my nickname.

00:59:32 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 2:

Bozo. Bozo's calling up because Bozo was in the same situation. What happened, Bozo?

00:59:38 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 3:

So my best friend was cheating on his wife. And I never said anything to my wife about it because I love her to death, but she is a loud mouth. So she probably would have gone right to his wife.

00:59:52 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So what happened? What ended up happening?

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, he ended up coming out about it and they broke up. And, you know.

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 8:

what it is. When she asked me about it, I told her the same thing. I love you, honey, but

01:00:03 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 6:

you would have told her. Did he come out or did he get caught? Be honest.

01:00:09 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 8:

She told me he came out. Yeah, lies.

01:00:12 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so Bozo, my question to you is, did you do... It just sounds so funny when you say his name. Did you do what this Zach guy did? Were you going out with your buddy when he was with this girlfriend?

01:00:24 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 8:

It wasn't every time, but I mean, she has showed up when we've gone out to the bar or we've gone out fishing and she showed up, but

01:00:31 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 4:

it wasn't every time. Okay, why is a girl going out fishing with the guys?

01:00:36 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 6:

Because she's a pick-me.

01:00:38 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 8:

Because his wife wasn't there.

01:00:40 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 4:

What's a pick-me? A pick-me girl.

01:00:42 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 6:

That's everything the boys want to do. Because I'm cooler than other girls. I'm one of the guys. She's a pick-me.

01:00:47 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 4:

Is that what she sounds like, too? Bozo, did she sound like that?

01:00:53 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 8:

No, no. She didn't sound like that.

01:00:56 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 4:

She was a reputable woman. Comments, by the way, are all about him cheating. Every single one of these comments are about him cheating. I mean, there's a few that we've talked to already, and then there's a few in there that say that he wasn't cheating. But, man, a lot of people hating on Zachary today. What's going on, Micah?

01:01:20 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 9:

Hey, what are you doing?

01:01:22 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 4:

Good. Guy perspective on this. Would you tell your girl that your buddy was cheating?

01:01:29 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 9:

absolutely i mean at the end of the day when i laid out my significant other in the bed we're going to talk about just about everything and if my best friend doesn't want me to indulge that information to my significant other don't involve me because i'm not down with the guilty with association type thing because that just opens up doors to make your spouse feel insecure in the

relationship no secrets question how much of you telling your girl that your buddy's cheating is to make you look better as a man in bed with her at night? Great question. That you're saying that scumbag is a cheater.

01:02:05 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 9:

None of it. I'm just me. I'm a confident man, and I don't have anything to worry about. That's what I would do it. I would do it that way. I would totally do it, too.

And when I found out, oh, no, honey, I don't have anyone there, four years later, he had two girlfriends, and they would all go see them at the same time.

01:02:35 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Really? So Muskegon is the place to bring your mistress?

01:02:40 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 7:

Actually, the mistresses were from Muskegon.

01:02:42 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's where you find them.

01:02:44 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:03:22 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 4:

A chance to go to Naughty Moms Night Out coming up in less than 15 minutes. Right now, we're going to give you the Dirty on the 30.

01:03:29 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 5:

Could you imagine Kim Kardashian not on TV? Could you imagine not hearing about her in the Dirty? Oh, my God.

01:03:37 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 4:

Can I imagine? I've been dreaming about that forever. Wow.

01:03:41 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 5:

Please. She claims she would absolutely love that. She would love to just focus on being a lawyer.

01:03:49 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever consider life without the cameras? Yeah, absolutely. I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time. I would totally spend more time doing that. You're pretty close to becoming a lawyer. How close? I'm probably going to take the bar February 25. About a year? Yeah, about a year. Hey, what's up? This is Kim Kardashian,

01:04:12 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 2:

and you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You know what's interesting about that?

01:04:15 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 4:

She would be on television as one of those legal analysts for one of the networks.

01:04:21 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Can you imagine how much money they would pay her? No, I don't think so. You don't think so? I really don't think so because the cases that she takes on aren't necessarily high profile until she takes them on. I think she advocates more for people who are unjustly imprisoned than wanting to.

01:04:38 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I actually really appreciate that cause. No, I do too. A great, yeah.

01:04:42 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't that be a great TV show though? That's true. Wouldn't that be another great reason for that TV show?

01:04:46 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 6:

It's only for advocacy among the people who are falsely imprisoned or imprisoned unjustly with their sentencing.

01:04:53 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 5:

For sure. For sure. Yeah. The head of Morgan Wallen's record label is denying this rumor that he was.

01:05:00 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 3:

too drunk to perform at his canceled show in Mississippi, the first of several cancellations. Somebody on TikTok shared this video of a security guard at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium telling fans after Sunday night's show that not only was Morgan super drunk, but also that he had to be taken out of the venue by an ambulance.

01:05:21 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 1:

You said he couldn't walk? He couldn't walk.

01:05:23 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 3:

They got, that losing his voice is bull crap.

01:05:25 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. He was too drunk? Yep. Too drunk.

01:05:27 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 3:

Too drunk in the ambulance, took him off. Yeah, he said this story about losing his voice is bullcrab. That TikTok, by the way, has more than 4 million views. However, both that security guard's employer and Morgan Wallen's record label are shooting down the claim that there's an alcohol issue here. Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell caught on video inhaling from a balloon that looks like it's filled with nitrous oxide. This makes me so sad because we've been hearing so many stories that he has an issue with this. He was sitting in his car outside of his L.A. home, sucking on a fully inflated balloon. And in one of the photos, I noticed you can see a canister, which looks like a nitrous oxide container. Everybody knows what huffing is, right? I don't have to explain that. Okay, so he was spotted doing the exact same thing back in December. That time, his toddler son was in the backseat of the car. Beyonce is challenging the IRS and U.S. tax court. She just filed a petition seeking a redetermination of an almost $2.7 million tax liability imposed to her by the IRS for the years 2018 and 2019. For 2018, the IRS is saying, Beyonce, you owe us an additional $800,000 in taxes and more than $161,000 in penalties. For 2019, she owes more than $1.4 million in additional taxes and nearly $300,000 in penalties. So in her petition, Beyonce says the IRS made an error here by disallowing millions upon millions of dollars in deductions for insurance and management fees, legal and professional fees, utilities, taxes, and all sorts of other expenses. So she's fighting back. And lastly, engagement ring sales are down. Failed romances due to the pandemic have impacted the wedding industry big time, resulting in the nosedive of the sales of engagement rings. And to get back to pre-pandemic engagement ring levels, jewelers like Zales and Jared and Kay Jewelers would need to increase their sales 25% by 2026. So think about how much they're having to make up there. And it's not just engagement rings taking a hit. The pandemic resulted in a lot of couples, a lot of brides especially, just moving away from traditional weddings and dresses. I can't remember if we talked about this in Trending News, but last week David's Bridal filed for bankruptcy, which is a big place for girls to go to get bridal and bridesmaids' dresses.

01:08:07 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 2:

I was talking to Fran Lucido, and she said though it was down during the pandemic, It's gone really back up lately. And a lot of it is people that are choosing to make something very, very special. So they're not going with the everybody's wearing the same type of a ring. People are doing different types of rings. And also nostalgic rings are a big one, too. Like rings that look like your grandparents or moms and stuff.

I think I want to marry you. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:08:50 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Mojo in the Morning Show. Chance for you to go to Naughty Mom's Night Out is happening in less than 10 minutes. So like 7 minutes from now. So be listening if you're a mom and want to party with us on May the 12th at the Daxton Hotel in Birmingham. Okay, so I want to bring something up here right now that I've talked about for, I don't know, weeks now it seems like. And it's definitely something that has been top of mind for me as far as causing a little bit of anxiety. But I have anxiety for a different reason now. I've been telling you about how my youngest son, our baby Luke, is going to be graduating from high school this year. He only has two more days left of school.

01:09:35 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 3:

Today, tomorrow?

01:09:36 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 2:

Today, tomorrow, he is no longer a high school student ever.

01:09:41 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. That's so crazy. That's really early. Is that normal?

01:09:45 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 2:

It's insane how early it is. Oh, okay. But it's always that way. It is? Yeah, they start early at his school. So with my son not going to high school anymore has caused for Chelsea and I have to do a lot of preparation. because we've got to bring grandparents into town, brothers back, you know, for his high school graduation. Yeah. And then last night, I opened up an Amazon package at the house, and when I opened it up, there were four water guns inside of this thing. And for those that live in Michigan, I think it's a big thing in the Detroit area. It might be also in Grand Rapids. I know Toledo, Megan, says it's not that big.

01:10:26 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 3:

these high school like i didn't know what it was until you guys described it a few years ago

01:10:31 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 2:

these high school kids do this thing called water wars where they team up with each other and then they squirt their friends and if you squirt one of the kids on the team basically that you know they're out and it's which team is going to be the winner of this water wars what do you win by the way uh you know what i don't actually know what the prize is but i know that my son is a reigning champion oh wow and he's got a first round bye does he get a tassel on his graduation cap for that actually no they get a rope around their neck yes for that thing make a jerk but um so water wars is happening and then i overheard luke talking to a friend of his about a senior prank possibly that people were talking about a senior prank yeah and it's got me thinking something that's giving me more anxiety than the fact that i can't believe that my baby is going to be going to college it's that my baby is not going to go to college and that he's going to get in trouble over the next couple of weeks before they go and do their diploma, you know, graduation, and he's not going to graduate. And then we did a five lies to tell your mom. You might have heard that kid Jordan on with us where we told his mom that he wasn't going to walk. And it got me thinking, what the hell is going to happen if Luke doesn't get to walk? Like, what if he does something? What if he acts like a complete moron or an idiot and gets himself into trouble? So I wanted to ask this question of our listeners that maybe have graduated or haven't graduated and ask who did not get to walk at graduation and what was it that caused you not to be able to walk? so call us up 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if you were either the person that didn't get to walk or had a friend or somebody that you knew that didn't get to walk or maybe the parent of you

01:12:20 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 3:

can call us up and uh and tell us this i was on the very edge were you for what what'd you do because i figured out a trick they had a girl in um in my senior year who would sit in the office and she was training to do office work when she left high school so she would answer the phones every morning and i figured out that if i called her that morning i could say hey just tell them my dad called hey just tell them my mom called today i'm not coming in today or i'm missing the first couple hours i did this for probably three months without anybody ever saying anything i just went under the radar nobody said a word and then i finally got busted and i had uh suspension for like the rest of the year like every day after school i'd have to there was detention every day after school i'd have to sit there for a couple hours and they said if you don't do this you are not going to be able to walk at graduation. My mom was

01:13:06 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 2:

furious. What happened to the girl, though, that was doing this, too? Did she get in trouble?

01:13:10 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I have no idea. I probably should have. Yeah, she's the one that's doing that thing. By the way, what in the heck were you doing that? You were skipping school or you were three hours late every day? Smoking weed. Smoking weed. Oh, were you? I was sleeping. I slept a lot and a little bit of weed, yeah. Oh, okay. I didn't know you were...

01:13:26 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 2:

We always thought that the kids that did stuff like that were, you know, the burnouts, right? The guys smoking weed. I remember one kid, Mike, did exactly what you did where he didn't come to school and was able to work his way that he could miss his first hour and not get caught with the whole deal? But he would sit in the parking lot of the school and hang out with his friends. I'd be like, why are you hanging out with your friends in the parking lot? You should be at home

01:13:50 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 3:

or something, right? I tried to justify it because it was like gym class.

01:13:53 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 2:

It was my senior year. It doesn't matter. Who needs gym class? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Why did you not walk at graduation? Starting off with a voice disguised one here. How about this for an alias? Are you okay with the name Bella?

01:14:11 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:14:12 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 2:

All right, alias Bella. Why did you not walk at graduation?

01:14:17 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 1:

So, it was actually my foreign exchange student. I was a junior, and she was a senior, and she got caught drinking at prom. So, she couldn't walk, so we staged photos of her walk oh my gosh wait that's a great idea

01:14:37 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 2:

she had the cap and gown and everything and you guys just kind of like played it like you were there

01:14:42 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 1:

oh yeah yep we took lots of staged selfies of her all dressed up in her cap and gown and sent it to her parents

01:14:51 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

that's great yeah you know what they say that prom is one of the biggest times that people end up getting themselves into trouble and the reason why they can't walk Now

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 1:

Natalie, hi. Hi, Natalie.

01:15:05 - 01:15:06 | Unknown:

Hi, how are you guys?

01:15:06 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 1:

We're good. Why did you not get to walk?

01:15:10 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 3:

So it wasn't me, but my graduating class decided that our hallway in the upstairs of the school was going to be a slip and slide.

01:15:19 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 5:

So fun.

01:15:21 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 3:

Tarps and actual, like, slip and slides that you buy in the box down all over the hallway and suds were just everywhere. Okay, that is so fun. did they get in trouble like where they couldn't walk uh yeah quite a few of them got pulled from the walk i just like destroyed the floor see that stinks because that that to me like it's not

01:15:43 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

really doing any damage and i feel like that's a pretty steep a pretty steep punishment but they have to do it to keep the other classes for essentially 13 years to walk to make that walk

01:15:56 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 1:

Steph, hi.

01:15:58 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you?

01:16:00 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 1:

Good. So this was a group of people that weren't allowed to walk. Is that right?

01:16:05 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was actually me, my twin sister, and then our best friend. And the two of them had some issues with another girl in school. And it was literally just some back and forth. Like he said, she said stuff. There was never like any physical fight or anything like that. but they took bullying so serious and wouldn't even let me walk because of my sister and my best friend and the problems they have with another girl. Oh, man. But you weren't doing any of that stuff? No, we were just, like, really close, and it was just, like, the three of us all the time. And, yes, so they just kind of included me because I guess maybe they thought I was going to continue the issues at school if I couldn't have to leave with them.

01:16:46 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 2:

Because I agree, by the way, for the two of them. They shouldn't get to walk.

01:16:49 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 1:

But how upset was your family, though, about this?

01:16:52 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it was such a big deal.

01:16:53 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I bet. Like, grandparents don't understand what's going on when you find out that they can't be going to their grandchild's graduation.

01:17:01 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 2:

Don't you agree bullying? I do. You shouldn't. I do. Slip inside in the hallway or water wars. Yes.

01:17:07 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes. But here's the thing. I think that there's ways to suspend them without giving them the, I can never see that my child graduated. But I don't know. Phoenix, what's up? hi how you doing phoenix we're talking about not being able to walk during graduation i'm so worried my son only has two more days left of school and i'm hoping he doesn't do anything stupid

01:17:31 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 5:

no on our senior class trip um our valedictorian had actually gotten in trouble for smoking marijuana and was told that his parents needed to come to new york to come pick him up and that he wasn't able to walk. But he ended up being able to still be there, but in retaliation of our principal, one of the students, she had said, well, you guys better not do anything. You guys better just keep it straight altogether. And he ended up stripping down into a Robin superhero costume to go and get his diploma.

01:18:15 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 1:

So took off his cap and gown and had a Robin superhero one. You know what's amazing about the valedictorian? He's usually the one, isn't he, or she, that gets to go up there and speaks. And then all of a sudden, they're not allowed to be up there. Listen to Gabby's. One last one here. Gabby, are you there?

01:18:33 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I am.

01:18:34 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 1:

Gabby, we're talking about not being able to walk during graduation. What was the reason?

01:18:39 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 6:

Me and my friends hacked into the principal's school computer and sent an email to all the teachers in the school's post.

01:18:49 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 1:

Legendary. Yes. And they found you guys, huh? They found out who the hackers were?

01:18:54 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yep.

01:18:55 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God.

01:18:56 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 6:

So we couldn't walk.

01:18:57 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 1:

All right, real quick. I said you were going to be the last, but these last three, we're going to have the listeners and you guys judge. Who is the better reason why you couldn't walk? That hacked into the computers. Leah, what was the reason why you couldn't walk?

01:19:14 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 6:

Hi. We let thousands of crickets go in our school.

01:19:18 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one.

01:19:20 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

And they don't go away for a long time. No, you could hear them for a week.

01:19:25 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 1:

And Debbie, what was yours? The reason why you couldn't walk? Debbie?

01:19:32 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it wasn't me, but it was someone in my class. They drove their motorcycle down the hallway.

01:19:38 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 1:

Come on, these are great. All right. The slip and slide one, hacked into the principal's computer and closed school, let the crickets loose, and drove the motorcycle down. Stellar. Those are great.

01:19:51 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 2:

Those are so good. So good.

01:19:54 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to our graduates this year. And hopefully my son's name is being read at graduation.

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 2:

What is the big graduation song this year? Is there one that everybody's going to play? Isn't it the Maroon 5 one that they stole from Vitamin C? Memories?

01:20:08 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that was... Oh, I feel like that's old. Isn't that old, like a couple years ago?

01:20:12 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I am so sorry. Like, they didn't play Vitamin C for 30 years.

01:20:17 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I agree with you. I just didn't know if there was, like, something new. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I feel attacked.

01:20:23 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 4:

I hope it's something, like, super... Like, I hope it's, like, R. Kelly. Like, something just so inappropriate that it makes it. I believe I can fly. How funny would that be?

01:20:30 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 1:

I don't think they'll allow it anymore.

01:20:32 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 2:

What is wrong with you?

01:20:33 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 1:

It needs to be something just completely out of context. Like, I don't know. Here you go. This would be a good one for the song for the class of 2023.

01:20:42 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:20:43 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 1:

Because girls is players too.

01:20:47 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. Because girls is players too.

01:20:50 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 1:

All right. We want to give you a chance to go to our Naughty Moms Night Out. It's May the 12th. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. 95th caller wins mojo in the morning we got great neighbors i know we do and i love ours but i don't necessarily know if these are things that you should ask another neighbor to do but strange strange asks if you're a neighbor megan what's up so this guy i know he was in a really really bad

01:21:21 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 2:

car accident um like about a week or two ago and his back is super messed up and he unfortunately a lot of times with back injuries you kind of have to wait a long time before people take you seriously so he's going through all these doctor's appointments and it just it's a pain in the total behind and he's struggling well he got stuck on the floor in his living room because he was laying down trying to relieve some of his back pain and he couldn't get back up oh god which is hysterical i uh laugh in the face of his pain uh but he needed help obviously to get up off of the floor and one of his neighbors had a key to his place like as an in case of emergency if he ever got locked out it's somebody that he kind of knows but i don't know if he is super close to he had to call that person ask them to come over let themselves in and help pick him up off of the floor oh my gosh that is so sweet thank god for that neighbor amen exactly but also i think i would rather die on that floor than call anybody to come over to pick me up but what would you do

01:22:31 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 1:

if you got a call from a neighbor that asked you to pick them up oh i would absolutely go and help

01:22:35 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 2:

but for me this this would become a situation where i'm like yes i do need life alert on a

01:22:41 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 1:

daily basis now yeah so you so if this was you where you were laying on the floor you your your decomposed body would be there weeks or months or years later absolutely half eaten by

01:22:53 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 2:

my dog and that's how i wanted to be because i would rather do that than ask for help you know

01:22:58 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 1:

what's funny about this is i think of my neighbors like jen across the street from us she is a a teacher uh divorced mom very very nice she is always great at helping us out anytime we need help with anything letting the dogs out like if i have a late day and chelsea's not able to get home to let the dogs out yeah but i also get a call occasionally and chelsea gets it more than i do a call from her to the fact that there's a lot of packages on the front doorstep you know amazon stuff and she'll say are you guys out of town and i feel judged because we're not out of town at the time that that happened they just all came in one day they're just all there at the same time yeah she's like she brings our packages in for us all the time she's so sweet when that happens

01:23:41 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 3:

i almost had to call my neighbor lisa across the street who thankfully is a friend of mine this was a couple of months ago like before the holiday but i got stuck in a dress that i had been wearing and it wasn't that i couldn't unzip or unbutton it it was literally just so tight around my armpits that i had gotten i had gotten it over my body yeah but i couldn't get the rest of it off and i thought i'm gonna have to call and it was a week i didn't have the kids so there was nobody at my house and i thought i'm gonna have to call lease to come over and caught me out of this damn dress thankfully i ended up just ripping it and getting out of it but okay with

01:24:17 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 1:

that said is there any listeners that have ever had to call their neighbors to have them come over and help them get out of Spanx.

01:24:26 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 2:

Again, I think I'd rather die.

01:24:28 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 1:

Would you?

01:24:30 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

I've woken up in Spanx that I was still wearing from the night before and I thought I had died. I woke up and I couldn't breathe.

01:24:37 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 1:

Mike had his neighbor, remember, the other day we talked about it, say that he could borrow his vacuum to vacuum the lawn. Which was kind of an interesting thing.

01:24:45 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

There was that one time, too, I was on the roof doing something. I don't remember what I was doing. I was fixing gutters or looking in gutters they're trying to get leaves out of the gutter and I slipped and I started sliding down the roof and I thought I was going to fall off the roof and I'm like there's this is it like I don't know what I'm going to do if I fall off the roof like there was

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 7:

Nobody at the house. It was just me. I could just yell and be like, you know, I'm in pain. But at that point, I'd be so embarrassed from falling off the roof. I think I would just lay there. I don't think I'd call anybody.

01:25:09 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 6:

If you get on a ladder, do you wait until Allie is home with the kids to do it? I do now. I didn't before. Yeah, because I have had to change a couple of batteries and, like, ring cams and stuff. And I don't do it when I know that, like, somebody in my house is not home. Because I do have that fear that I'm going to, like, fall and be on the front, you know, driveway and my kids are going to be coming home or my wife's going to be coming home. All right, Mojo in the Morning, what is the strangest ask that a neighbor has ever asked you or you had to ever ask a neighbor? Julie, how you doing?

01:25:46 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 3:

Doing good. How about you?

01:25:47 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 6:

Good. Did they ask you or did you have to ask them?

01:25:52 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 3:

No, they asked us. So you know how you go to neighbors sometimes and they'll, you know, do you have a, what's the thing, you know, a cup of sugar or a couple of eggs or something? Well, our neighbors had recently had their home broken into and their entire collection of porn had been stolen. And they actually came over and asked if we had any porn movies they could borrow. No way.

01:26:16 - 01:26:17 | Unknown:

Stop it.

01:26:18 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. Yep, they did. But keep in mind, these same neighbors, I think they are swingers because when we first moved in, they introduced themselves. He was wearing silk boxers, and she was wearing a camisole set, and they were in their backyard and introduced themselves to us.

01:26:37 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 6:

Do you have the belief that that was their way of trying to flirt with you by asking you that, maybe?

01:26:43 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, I mean, from the introduction and then, you know, asking to borrow porn. Oh, my God. Yeah, they're quite odd.

01:26:53 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 6:

Emily, a little different than the porn. Did you have to call for a neighbor? What was the story? Emily, is it you?

01:27:03 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, this is me.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 6:

How are you doing, Emily? What's going on?

01:27:06 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. So I didn't have anybody call for me or call for anybody else. I actually have a comment for Megan and anybody else that's listening. if you guys ever find yourself in a position where you have fallen or you know you can't get up from something um you can get a hold of your local fire department yeah prior to uh almost every fire department has a lift assist um that they'll give you a phone number and you guys can call some are free some are not so make sure you what if i can't get out of address yeah what about that

01:27:37 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 1:

i'm not calling spanks no no no no honestly i didn't know that they would come for like citizens help we should all be calling the fire department have you ever seen an unattractive fire department no you haven't you can come over and help me out in my spanx come on boys let's go

01:27:53 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 5:

i used to work in birmingham at a like an old folks home and we would often have to call up to come help us move a patient you know if they've fallen they'll quickly check them out make sure

01:28:04 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 6:

they're okay yeah and then get them back would you fix your hair and your makeup before they came to make sure you look good. Lisa, what's up? Good morning, Mojo. It's Lisa. What's up, Lisa? Hi, Lisa. What's going on? We're talking about the neighbors and the strange asks that they will have you, you know,

01:28:24 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 2:

help them with. It was my strange ask for my 20-year reunion. I had a little black dress with a button in the center of my back that I could not reach. My roommate put it on me. I was great. Came home. She wasn't home. I had to go to the neighbors who i didn't know after midnight and say could you undo my dress and with two guys standing there i was like it couldn't get anyone could you imagine what was going through their

01:28:51 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 7:

head at that moment too like their neighbor comes over hey can you help me out of this dress real

01:28:56 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 6:

quick wait are you thinking that they're thinking that's a pickup line or something like what would

01:29:02 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 7:

you think yeah if you were if you were single with a buddy living in with a buddy whatever and this girl shows up and says can you help me out of this dress i'd be like this is the

01:29:08 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 6:

neighborhood i want alex what's up hi how are you we're doing good alex we're talking about the strange asks that neighbors will sometimes call and be neighborly about so my neighbor called

01:29:24 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 4:

me uh i had her daughter at my house it was my her birthday the daughter's birthday and the and she had gone out with her husband and um sister she called and said oh my god you have to go across the street to my house don't tell my daughter but i think her cat died oh geez so i ran across the street and the cat was lying on her son's lap and he was crying and the cat was not breathing oh my god and he started crying and he said please can you save it and i gave it mouth

01:29:52 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 6:

to mouth oh and it did it did it revive and come back to life do we have a good ending with this

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

She did not.

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Alex, but, I mean, what a good person.

01:30:03 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 4:

You are a good person. I had its whiskers in my mouth. Oh, my God.

01:30:10 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 1:

I just think that.

01:30:11 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 4:

I even tried chest compressions.

01:30:12 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. By the way, I hope that they got you something for that. Did they buy you a gift or anything?

01:30:19 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 4:

I mean, they're very good neighbors. They do stuff for us all the time. So it's all a wash. I'm not sure. I think I went over and above, but I'm not sure. You did. That was amazing. You did.

01:30:29 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, CPR for the cat. Last call here, Voices Guy's Sally. Sally, we're talking about neighborly neighbors. What's up?

01:30:40 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So a couple days ago, one of my neighbors came over and nicely knocked on the door at almost 3 o'clock in the morning and asked for a condo. Oh.

01:30:51 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 5:

Really? Desperation. Yeah.

01:30:54 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 2:

It's very crazy. That's why I asked to be the Voices Guy because it was very recent. Did you bring condoms?

01:31:00 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's an amazing thing to just knock on your neighbor's door at that time of the morning, let alone to ask if they have condoms.

01:31:09 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 2:

Also have dress. Yeah. We stay in a part of Sterling Heights where, you know, the stores and the gas stations close very early. You'll have to kind of go out closer to the city if you get one. So I guess he just left a date and, you know, must have been in the middle of his due. And he came and he actually asked my fiancé, fiance, because him and my fiance kind of built a rapport over the past couple months. So he asked me, he was like, is your fiance home? And I was like, yeah. He was like, I know this is very weird, but I need a condom. Do you guys have one? I mean, props for being

01:31:41 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 1:

safe. Yeah. Shannon says, I have to grab this next one, and it's going to make your butt itch. What's up, Brianne? Hi.

01:31:51 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning, Brianne.

01:31:53 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

We're talking about the interesting things that a neighbor will ask you to do for them.

01:31:58 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 3:

Yes, this one was very awkward. I had just moved in with my boyfriend, now husband, and our 93-year-old neighbor came over one day. My husband was at home, knocked on the door with her bio freeze in her hand, and asked me if I would rub it on her back and butt. It was extremely awkward, and I had no idea what to say, but I helped the poor lady. Oh, that's nice.

01:32:22 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 1:

What a neighbor you are. That's so sweet. That's an ask right there.

01:32:27 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 5:

So what, did she actually, like, pull down her pants so you could do it?

01:32:32 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, she kind of just, like, walked in our house and, like, proceeded to, like, close the door and just kind of pulled her little skirt down. And she's like, yeah, right here. And I just rubbed it on. And she's like, all right, thanks. Have a great day. And walked out of the house and left.

01:32:47 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 1:

Where do you live? What neighborhood was this?

01:32:50 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, at that time, it was in Sterling Heights.

01:32:53 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 1:

See, that Sterling Heights is a common one. It is. If you want neighbors that will give you condoms or-

01:33:00 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 5:

Biofreeze on your booty.

01:33:01 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 1:

You go to Sterling Heights. By the way, isn't it known for the golden toilet?

01:33:07 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we've got that lovely golden butthole on.

01:33:10 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the golden butthole there. Yeah. All right. Thank you for the call. If you haven't ever seen the golden butthole, it's a wonderful fixture along Hall Road there. Mojo in the Morning Show. We are going to do another round of Only Fans. So, Lydia, get the names of the people that we've had the last couple of days for me. I'm going to do it in, like, less than 10 minutes. And I want to see if we can get one last, maybe a good possibility, and then we have to pick a winner for – it's our Mojo in the Morning. This sounds weird if you're just tuning in right now. It's our Mojo in the Morning contest called Mojo's Only Fans, where we pay you to do some things for us. And it's not weird. It's not like Only Fans. Obviously, you know, play on words. The first task is you have to sit on a toilet here at the radio station during this time that we're commercial-free reading the book, Everybody Poops, for an hour on Facebook Live.

01:34:05 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 5:

In the bathroom.

01:34:06 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 1:

So if you do it, then you will win whatever the money amount is that you have asked us for. So if you'd like to text OnlyFans and tell us that you'd be interested in doing this, you can text us right now and we'll open up the phone lines in a little bit for that. Mojo in the Morning Show, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. So you recently moved Wes, your fiance, out of his house. He moved into an apartment. You guys are selling the house. I know you told the story.

01:34:37 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I told the story on the podcast. Yeah.

01:34:39 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So you guys went through the stuff and something very interesting was found?

01:34:46 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

So I was helping him and his kids unpack everything. He's going to kill me for telling the story, by the way. But I was helping him unpack everything in his new place and just like boxes and boxes and boxes. And so I was doing.

01:35:00 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

his bathroom so I was unpacking all of the boxes that he had labeled you know for his bathroom and mind you when he was packing he he it's weird he's such like a neat person but there are certain little things that he hoards that I'm discovering as I'm unpacking okay and one of those things is Megan you know what I'm talking about those little like travel pouches that you like throw in like Like the hotel size shampoo and like your razor and like all that stuff when you travel. And a lot of times if you're, he travels a lot for work internationally. So they give you one of those, excuse me, on a flight with like an eye mask, you know, and little socks and stuff. Well, he had so many of those. So I'm opening up all these little travel cases that he hoards and truly throwing the majority of them away if they're just filled with junk at this point, because I don't even know how long that he's had them. So one of the little travel bags However I unzipped And it was filled with makeup That was definitely not mine And thong panty liners Also not mine Don't use those I thought it was so funny Because I'm like well obviously this belongs to A past girlfriend That had it shoved down under the Bathroom cupboard or whatever The makeup was so old and gross But when I went out to show It has to be gross by the way It's old right well i know you know what i'm talking about when concealer gets like a clumpy look

01:36:24 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 4:

so it was it was not only gross what woman would wear that color no i'm not gonna do that i'm not

01:36:30 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 2:

gonna do that but he was mortified and i what was he he was embarrassed over the fact that he didn't

01:36:38 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 4:

clean that before you move or the wait he moved it over with them is the thing well i think he

01:36:44 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 2:

literally just like went like this and grabbed everything that was under the bathroom sinks

01:36:49 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 4:

You told me Wes did something very interesting with the move, which honestly, I'm so happy to know that he is as disorganized as I am, that he had people helping him move, but not necessarily was as prepared for the move, right? Is that what you're saying? What do you mean? Well, did he have boxes all nicely packed up? No, he did. Oh, he did. He did. He did. Yeah, he did. Oh, I thought you told me the other day that it was...

01:37:15 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 2:

No, what I said to you was he hired movers. and it was the day after 420 and they ended up being no freaking help at all so he in the middle of the day was like please just go home go home at this point and he did the rest of it himself

01:37:31 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 4:

so that was the debacle I misunderstood because I was thinking when Joe moved to Tampa Chelsea helped him with the move she went to his house on the day that they were to load the boxes in the trailer and move and he literally had nothing packed oh yeah so she had to go through and pack like i'm like oh my god that is such a guy thing to do to do um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 when you move in with your new person your new you know man or woman that's now the love of your life um do you have you ever found some of the stuff from the past relationships yeah and what like an ex-girlfriend's panties i knew you were

01:38:14 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say that, like an ex-girlfriend. How did I know that's where that was going? It was just too easy.

01:38:18 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 3:

I know it. I'll tell the story. That's okay. I have a, or I used to, I don't anymore, when Allie and I first moved in together, and probably for a couple months after, I had this white, like, shelving from, like, Ikea or something. It's like, it's got drawers and everything, and it would always just move from place to place to place, but it would just get shoved in the basement, and I didn't realize until we had, I think we got a house together. I think that's when I started digging through those drawers. I was looking for something, or she was looking for something, and found old girlfriend's panties in there. That whole shelving unit. I don't even remember what was in it, but it had to go to the side of the road. It was so bad.

01:38:55 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:38:56 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 3:

Were they also disgusting?

01:38:57 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 4:

Were they like Shannon said with the makeup? Were they disgusting, trashy panties? Oh, yeah.

01:39:03 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 2:

I said the makeup was old, by the way. Megan, you will appreciate this, though. There were beauty blenders in there that were still brand new, like in the container. Oh, damn. Took those. Those are like $30. Took those. Got myself two new ones.

01:39:15 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 4:

What about this? If the panty liners were still in the box, did you keep them for yourself to have the panty liners?

01:39:23 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

So I don't use thong panty liners.

01:39:25 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, you guys. Okay, would you still use?

01:39:31 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 2:

If they were tampons and not cardboard, yes, I would keep them.

01:39:34 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay, 100%. Sarah, what's up?

01:39:37 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes, they are.

01:39:38 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Sarah, what did you find when you guys moved in together?

01:39:40 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 1:

uh so i was helping to pack up my fiance's um he had like a guest room that had a bunch of extra clothes in it and things i was sorting through them he had a ton of clothes from like years past i found several girls panties i didn't say anything at the time Thank you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 3:

But I did say something a few months later. And anyway, but it was kind of, I don't know.

01:40:07 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 5:

Were they fresh? Were they a whore's panties? Because it's always, some whore's panties.

01:40:14 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 3:

They weren't really, but it was still uncomfortable. You know, it's still like, oh, okay.

01:40:21 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 5:

When you look at those panties and you hold them up, do you hold them up going, she was so much bigger than you?

01:40:27 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 3:

uh she was she was probably a little bigger than me okay all right it's funny because if they're

01:40:33 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 5:

really teeny teeny and they look like they're like some cutesy little girls you know like a young you know you kind of get all ah crap no nothing wrong with that i understand there's

01:40:44 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 2:

definitely nothing wrong with that value is not on what size our underwear is megan believe me i

01:40:49 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 5:

know that firsthand you should see my panties i was trying to get out of trouble when she found those and i was like those are mine i don't know what you're talking about my mike what's going on oh my god that would be a great call if somebody called up and said that they found their their guys panties did not realizing this what's up mike morning guys what's happening my uh my wife

01:41:10 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

was moving in and we were getting all of her all my stuff kind of cleaned up and i had a bunch of roommates for a long time and we she found the lost and found box uh women's panties bras Pieces of Halloween costumes You had a lost and found box

01:41:26 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 2:

No Where are you?

01:41:29 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome What was her reaction?

01:41:33 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 1:

She was actually pretty cool about it She was just like you've got to be kidding me Once I kind of explained what it was That it wasn't all of women that I've been with It's just a conglomerate of stuff

01:41:43 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah it's like schools lost and found Aren't they the greatest when you would be in middle school Or your kids were in middle school And you'd go through the lost and found box what's up angel hey this is funny what we're talking about when you move in together what

01:41:57 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 4:

did you find it was like i moved in and then um we had bought a house together so we were actually moving out and it was such a cluster and there was so much crap in our old house um i was going to the bathroom and i was going through all the cupboards and i've seen i looked up on the top first time ever going through it and found dentures and i was like that's weird dentures dentures were they they're my now husband's ex's dentures oh my gosh those are expensive who leaves those behind i was like i and i'm like um who's are these he's like i don't know probably someone chose and i was like oh well do you still want them wow he goes no you can

01:42:46 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 5:

throw him away she's in prison that's why she didn't come back for it okay she's preoccupied that was awesome i like that um how about the people who are texting in and there's many of them that said that they moved in with their now relationship and they found their boyfriend or

01:43:07 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 2:

girlfriend's private toys they still left their private oh you mean the exes yeah the exes i

01:43:13 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to have a kid listening. But isn't that interesting that they'll leave that there?

01:43:18 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 2:

One person said she found her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend's toy and social security card in the same drawer. She goes, guess both were important.

01:43:33 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 5:

We are going to do OnlyFans. I'm looking through the list of our Mojo in the Morning OnlyFans. We're offering up little tasks for you to do. We've had some great ones so far that have offered to do this. The first task is sit on our toilet at the radio station on Facebook Live, so you're definitely going to be seen by everybody, and reading the book Everybody Poops for an hour. We've had so many people that have wanted to do this, Michael from Sandusky, Jack from Toledo, Robin from Southfield, Nikki from Adrian, Jackie from Rochester, Delina from Royal Oak, Emma from Toledo. So that's just a few that I remember their names. And then we've got a couple other people here, and then we've got to pick somebody for this. And my favorite is that you pick the price. What is your price? What do you want us to pay you? We learned a little bit about OnlyFans yesterday from one of our listeners, a mom who's not OnlyFans to raise money for her bills and stuff, and she does some crazy stuff. Casey, are you there? Yeah, I'm here.

01:47:04 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 4:

How are you guys doing? Good morning.

01:47:06 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Casey. Casey, would you do this task?

01:47:09 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, definitely. 100% would do it.

01:47:11 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 1:

How much money would you want to do it?

01:47:14 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I would come from Toledo. I'd want $450. 50 i'd get my brakes fixed and new tags on my car with it oh that's big you know what i like also

01:47:23 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 1:

knowing why you want to do it because that makes me feel good like the person who called yesterday and said that they don't have the down payment for that house that they needed to get yep yep

01:47:31 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 4:

okay casey yeah i heard her i don't know how to do oxen but i can do voice changes and be like mom please i know how to use the toilet paper okay let me audition you let me audition you repeat

01:47:45 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 3:

after me a one hump camel makes a one hump poop a two hump camel makes a two hump poop that's from

01:47:51 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 4:

the book by the way you remember that so we have a one hump camel that makes a one hump poop and then we have a two pump camel that make a two hump poop that's not in front of me that's good

01:48:04 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 1:

that's amazing that you guys remember that book all right you got to get those breaks fixed so That's a good possibility. So hang on one second. That's a good one there. Father Al, are you there, Father Al?

01:48:16 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 2:

Yo, yo, yo, yo. Father Al's right here.

01:48:19 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 1:

Father Al, are you like a real father? Like a real father?

01:48:23 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Some people call me Father Al, you know, because I'd be blessed and stuff.

01:48:26 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:48:27 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 2:

A lot of people don't like to say father part.

01:48:30 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:48:31 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 2:

You say he's going to hell.

01:48:32 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like that, though. Like, he just blesses things. Just call me Father Mike. Father Al. Okay, okay. The last caller said $450. Yours is much less. Why is that?

01:48:45 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 2:

It sounds like Lydia likes expensive coffee, so I just want to make sure I can clear the bill.

01:48:50 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 1:

So that's it? So you're getting enough money?

01:48:53 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 3:

I just want it in for Lydia.

01:48:54 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 1:

Enough money to be able to ask Lydia out. Didn't you not hear that she devoted her love and affection to that gas station guy? I thought she was kidding. No, you didn't.

01:49:03 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 2:

I even wrote it in my diary. I thought it was dope.

01:49:05 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 1:

Really? No. How much money? Was it that you told us that you would want for doing this?

01:49:11 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, just 72 bucks. Just about it. Okay, wait. That is very specific.

01:49:15 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 3:

Why $72 and not $100?

01:49:20 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, for the expensive coffee, I feel like it would be like $30 each. And then a little $12 tip.

01:49:28 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I like you because you put so much thought into this.

01:49:32 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, I think gas station guy needs to worry if we pick this guy. If Father Al's here tomorrow, then there's something going on here.

01:49:41 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 2:

I gave her my number, so that's a good story, isn't it? Are you peeing right now? Am I what? It sounds like you're peeing. Oh, no, I'm at work. I had to hide because... Why are you sitting down? You crap standing up.

01:49:55 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

You did sound for a second there like you were doing it in the toilet. All right.

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 3:

Hang on one second, Father Al.

01:50:02 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 2:

I bet.

01:50:03 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, be careful of that guy. I don't know. That's bad news. I still like the callers from yesterday better.

01:50:12 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 4:

I liked the callers from yesterday, and I liked that one guy from the day before, but I think we were going to use him for something else. He came up with his own idea.

01:50:19 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:50:21 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 4:

Do you know who I'm talking about? Yep. The tattoo guy?

01:50:22 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 3:

The guy that wants to get the... The tattoo. Yes. The twinkle. Yeah.

01:50:25 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 4:

Yes. On his pelvis is what he said.

01:50:28 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 3:

The Mojo in the Morning tattoo on his pelvis for proof that he's an OnlyFan. And again, Father Al might be a good misfit, though. I don't know. Father Al, you could be a good misfit.

01:50:38 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 2:

Is that right?

01:50:39 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:50:40 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 2:

Is that good or bad?

01:50:41 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 3:

No, that's good. Mojo in the Morning misfits, the regulars on our show. Oh, I always look at them as good.

01:50:47 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 2:

Is Lydia going to be on it?

01:50:49 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 3:

Lydia's no. Lydia is our phone screener, and she works for the show. She is not a misfit.

01:50:56 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, she sounds like she knows that I've had a good time, though.

01:50:59 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Father L, are you Chaldean?

01:51:02 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 2:

No, but talk to you nice. I'm Mexican.

01:51:05 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Talk to you nice. Chaldean. Chaldean. Lydia, by the way, I just want you to know Father L likes you because she's a very religious woman. She goes to Bible study. Is it?

01:51:21 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, just let her know. I can tell her a thing or two about a thing or two. I have time on Saturday.

01:51:26 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, is Bible study tonight that you do? Is it normally on Thursdays or what night of the week is that?

01:51:30 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 2:

It's on Wednesdays.

01:51:32 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Wednesdays. So it was last night.

01:51:33 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was last night. Oh, mine's on Mondays.

01:51:35 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 3:

Mine, yours are on Mondays. Okay. All right, Father Al. We'll talk to you later.

01:51:41 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

All right, buddy. Thank you.

01:51:42 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 3:

All right. Thanks. Father Al's going to be a troublemaker, isn't he? Yes. I think so right there. Yes. Yeah. Although he might be fun. Could you imagine him just, like, diverting off of the book tomorrow and then having some fun on Facebook Live? All right, right now, a chance for you to go to NF, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. NF is going to be at Van Andel Arena, and we've got tickets. The show is on July the 18th. Tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.com. Win tickets if you're the 95th caller. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. War of the Roses from earlier this morning is worth the wait to listen to. You'll hear that coming up at 9 o'clock. Or if you can't wait, or maybe you tried to and you got to go, you can go check it out on our podcast. It's already up there. What do you got in this hour's dirty?

01:52:39 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 4:

So Megan Trainor's being slammed online after discussing her sex life with her husband, Daryl, on the Working It podcast. And essentially, she was talking about, a lot of people said TMI, talking about the size of his manhood.

01:52:54 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

My husband's a big boy. Not to the point where I'm like, I can't do anymore, you know? Wow, okay. Said sometimes she has a little trouble. You getting a little choked up on that one?

01:53:07 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 4:

Walking around afterwards, no.

01:53:09 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 3:

Is that what girls talk about when they're just with each other? They talk about what their guys' manhoods are about?

01:53:15 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes. I mean, it's not unheard of.

01:53:18 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 3:

That, by the way...

01:53:18 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 4:

You're acting like guys don't do the same thing. I know. The judgment that came off of your voice.

01:53:23 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 3:

No, we're men that care about our ladies.

01:53:27 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, her fans weren't really happy that she was so open about this, with some of them writing tacky, tacky, tacky in the comments section of a clip of that podcast. Another wrote, I didn't care to know this information ever. She also revealed during that podcast that she was diagnosed with something called, I don't even know if I'm going to say this right, vaginismus? Vaginismus?

01:53:48 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 3:

Vaginice it?

01:53:48 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I know that. No, no, no. V-A-G-I-N-I-S-M-U-S.

01:53:56 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

01:53:56 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Involuntary tensing of the vagina. Cool. So I never heard of it. She's got it. What podcast is this? The Working On It podcast. The Working On It podcast.

01:54:09 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:54:09 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 4:

Also, she's getting a lot of backlash right now because teachers are pissed at her. I know. And I played you the clip and her clarifying those comments. It doesn't seem to be going away. Right. Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval getting kind of pissy when paparazzi asked him if he had seen Raquel Levis in Arizona while he was there. He's on a retreat. We now know he was at the very luxurious Miraval Spa and Resort because they basically outed him on Instagram and he was there.

01:54:41 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to just tell you, Raquel is in a mental facility. Okay. No visitors. Okay. She's there. whether she decides to tell you where that is after the fact, that's where Raquel is. No visitors, no friends, no family, okay? No phone, no nothing. I went to a resort. He just sounds rude. Mm-hmm. Yeah? This was a big story yesterday. Kim Kardashian lookalike, an OnlyFans model, Christina Ashton Gurkhani, has died. She was only 34 years old. And a plastic surgery procedure may be to blame. Her family says the death is being investigated as a potential homicide and related it to a medical procedure, a plastic surgery, that took a turn for the worse. The Kelly Clarkson Show, the leader in talk shows for the 2023 Daytime Emmy nominations, Kelly walked away with 11. ABC's General Hospital led all programs with 19 noms. Zac Efron nominated for his show, Down to Earth, with Zac Efron, which, by the way, if you haven't seen it, it's actually a really, really great show. You can see it on Netflix. And then Selena Gomez, Selena and Chef, was nominated for Best Culinary Series, though Selena was not nominated for Best Culinary Host. The Daytime Emmys air live on CBS on June 16th. Was Drew Barrymore's show? She was not, she's going to go up against Kelly Clarkson for best daytime talk series. I was going to say, I like Drew Barrymore. It's a lot more. Yeah. She might actually win it this year. I love her too. And I love Kelly Clarkson. Like, I'm not trying to throw shade or anything here. Yeah. I just like Drew's better. And lastly, if you've still got a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon, one of those big blue and white things, its usefulness may not have totally expired in the wake of the news that Bed, Bath & Beyond is going away. The Container Store, which I love, is saving the day. They announced last night that they are offering a 20% discount off any single item through the end of May for customers who bring one of those Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons into their stores. So, there you go. Yep. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

01:56:49 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Go. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. Oh. oh mike i want to uh talk to you about this so mike's about to have a baby baby number three and when baby number three comes there is a possibility that someone's going to have to

01:57:15 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 2:

leave the house well i don't i don't think so the goal is no and even if before the the animal and pet people start coming at me, which they already have after your tease, I would never just throw an animal outside and let the animal go.

01:57:31 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, way to say, so I tease Mike's cat might have to find a new home. They did not take that as you were actually going to find it a new home. They thought you were just going to leave it outside the house and let it run to a new home.

01:57:44 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I already got DMs. So my wife got a message from a friend or they were texting back and forth or whatever, because the cat keeps laying in the co-sleeper, the little bed that's going to sit by the our bed when the baby's born. And it's constantly in there now. It's like its own little bed now. And so she is like talking to her about it or whatever. And the friend starts telling her these horror stories like, hey, I've heard of cats, you know, laying on top of the newborn and there's possibilities for suffocation and all these different things. So it's worked my wife up who's already like a little on edge as it is anyways. And rightfully so. She's at the end of this pregnancy, which it gets a lot harder. And, you know, she's in pain. She's uncomfortable. She's worried. She's nesting. all these different emotions and different things are happening but now she's like should we find this cat a home for a little bit and until the the baby's into like a crib or something we've

01:58:44 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 3:

never so it wouldn't be fully getting rid of the cat you would just lend it out maybe well i don't

01:58:52 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 2:

know i i don't she immediately went to we have to like the cat's gotta go like that was her initial like reaction to it all and then i have to be the one that's and again let me go back and say I did not want a cat I wanted a dog I said we should get a puppy How great would it be to have a puppy A golden retriever, a lab Just this big old fluffy doggy And I got outvoted They had to get a cat See, they should have listened to you Nobody ever listens to me

01:59:19 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 3:

So are you happy about this then Since you didn't want this The cat's name by the way is Saweetie

01:59:24 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 2:

Saweetie, yeah, yeah No, because we can't get rid of the cat There's no way we're getting rid of the cat My daughter is, even my son is too now Well, my daughter's in love with this cat. It's her everything. It's taught her a little bit of responsibility. My wife loves it. My wife loves the cat, too. I think she's just, you know, she's just on edge right now. She's trying to figure out what to do. And she got freaked out by this whole conversation.

01:59:47 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 3:

Are there any listeners that ever did this? They got rid of an animal because they had a child? You rehomed the animal. Yes.

01:59:55 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 1:

I think it's the got rid of that people are like, you know.

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 2:

Let's not read into everything. I agree with you. I know.

02:00:03 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm just saying.

02:00:03 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 2:

But so Mike is going to leave the cat on the side of the road. Sell it for parts.

02:00:11 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 4:

The sign around it.

02:00:11 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 2:

Actually, I think you should leave the baby on the side of the road. That's what you should do. We'll see if the baby fanatics come after us for this. I would be on the side of the road before any of those things would happen. There you go. Mike's going to be on the side of the road. Actually, you almost were on the side of the road when you were so opposed to getting Saweetie.

02:00:27 - 02:00:34 | Speaker 3:

I just dogs are so much friendlier there's no dog laying in a crib you know what I actually

02:00:34 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 4:

disagree with that and the reason I say dogs are not so much friendlier and I am a dog person you know my feelings on cats I don't need to elaborate but um I did have a girlfriend and they had to get rid of their little dog because when they brought their first baby home um and this is six kids ago by the way they have a lot of kids but um the dog got all of a sudden it was this sweet little dog, and it got very, very aggressive. Oh, really? And so, I mean, really, for the safety of the baby, they ended up giving the dog to a family member, I think, is who it went to. It was a little chihuahua, but yeah, so. Six kids.

02:01:06 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

They should have had, like... This was

02:01:07 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 4:

number one. This was a long time ago, but...

02:01:10 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 2:

The ability to be able to... What animal would be perfect for six kids? Like a horse and carriage or something like that? I don't know. Like, get a bunch of animals.

02:01:20 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 1:

Can't you just leave the door closed all the time so that the cat can't get in?

02:01:24 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yes, but the cat is so used to. So the cat, I mean, to be fair, the cat was there first. The cat sleeps under the bed. The cat and I have a routine every morning. And the cat literally, as I lift my foot off of the bed, will meow at me from under the bed. And then we follow each other down the stairs. And it will claw under the door now and start going, you'll hear, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, until you let it in at night. You'll never get to bed By the way, it sounds to me like the cat

02:01:53 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Is being closer to you Than even your wife and two children That's because I'm doing the cat thing I'm going, I don't want you I don't want you Kiero, this happened to you, right?

02:02:06 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 6:

Yes, it happened to me Towards the end of my pregnancy My cat just started hissing at me He wouldn't let me pet him And when I brought my son home from the hospital So he hissed at my son, and my son's father was like, oh, yeah, he has to go. So we had to give him away. We gave him away to a close family. How did that go over? No more decision.

02:02:31 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

Were the other family members upset with you for doing that?

02:02:35 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 6:

No, no. I kind of already was, like, inching towards it when I was pregnant because I seen how he was acting. So it was kind of like, yeah, you know, you said you still want the cat, right? Because, yeah, he has to go. Like, he was not having it. He was not having it at all.

02:02:54 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 2:

That's a lesson for your husband because if he ever talks back to you, you will also get rid of him, right?

02:03:00 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 6:

You already know.

02:03:03 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 2:

Kelsey, what's going on?

02:03:05 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 5:

Hello. Good morning, guys. How are you?

02:03:07 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 2:

We're doing all right. What's going on with you, Kelsey? Did you have to get rid of an animal when you had a child?

02:03:11 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 5:

I did I had these two cats they were brothers from the same letter yin and yang and their names fit them perfectly um I had them three years before my son was born and when we brought my son home at night he would get like this really raspy breath and we had to take him to a pediatrician come to find out he was severely allergic to cats and his throat would swell up in the middle of the night because the cats so I had to get rid of both of the cats they went to a same home and they were actually christmas presents to my best friend's little kids oh okay so that worked out

02:03:45 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

and do you guys know is it the cats like do you do they do they not like if you go over to your

02:03:51 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 5:

friend's house do the cats like go oh she's here uh no not anymore oh they kind of just ignore me

02:03:58 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

from time to time now that's the thing mike thinks everybody ignores him already imagine if he gets rid of the cat and gives it to a friend and then you go over there right the cat oh yeah he's like

02:04:09 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 5:

forget this i don't i remember you you got rid of me you abandoned me so that's what cats normally

02:04:14 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 3:

02:04:40 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Mike sounds very sad Doesn't he? We can't get rid of it For an animal that you didn't even want Toya Who are you talking to Toya?

02:04:54 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh sorry I was talking to my son

02:04:57 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes Toya Hello, son. What's son's name? What's your name?

02:05:04 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 4:

Houston.

02:05:05 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Houston? Good. Nice to have you here. Toya, you actually got rid of the dog when Houston was born.

02:05:15 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 4:

I did. It was a rescue dog. First of all, I didn't even want pets. So I rescued her in the middle of winter, and I got attached to her. We got married. We had a baby, and she would wait until everybody went to sleep to go pee in Houston's room. Oh, yeah. So, I had to get rid of her.

02:05:41 - 02:05:42 | Unknown:

What?

02:05:42 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:05:44 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 2:

Houston.

02:05:47 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 4:

Houston. That is disgusting. That is disgusting. I was going to a Yosey room. You were a baby. That dog was

02:06:00 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 2:

Peeing all over the place Houston Yes

02:06:05 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 4:

We're headed to Bring your kids to work day Oh that's great

02:06:12 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 2:

Houston you behave You make sure that you don't You don't go potty over at Mommy's work okay

02:06:19 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 4:

I work for DPD so he's going to be On his bed

02:06:25 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. That's kind of a cool job to go to. You get to go and hang out. Yeah?

02:06:32 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:06:33 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 2:

All right, Houston. We'll take care of you.

02:06:37 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Bye, guys.

02:06:38 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 2:

Bye. We'll see you. Bye. Bye. Mike, that is kind of interesting to see what happens with Saweetie in doing this.

02:06:50 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 1:

We're not getting rid of her. There's no way. What happens if? I don't know who's getting angry at me. There's no way. I'm just going to get rid of the cat. I need to find a way to manage my wife's emotions in this situation because she is dead set that this cat is going to sleep on top of it.

02:07:04 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 5:

I know. By the way, who is that girl that said that to her? Come on.

02:07:08 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on. Daisy, you there, Daisy?

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 5:

I'm here.

02:07:11 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 2:

What made you get rid of your cat?

02:07:14 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 3:

My cat would always jump in the crib, the bassinet, wherever the baby was, not with a person. She would jump in there and smell around the baby And look to see if she had any milk She would always like attach to maybe the breast milk smell I don't know

02:07:30 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 2:

So were you worried that the cat was going to do that When the baby was in there?

02:07:34 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she did I called her one time licking the baby's cheek So I'm like, oh, no, one time, one and done I gave the cat to my sister Never seen the cat

02:07:43 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 2:

How does that make you feel, Mike, when you hear that? I don't really know what to say to that Mike, what are you more afraid of? And be honest with me on this one. Okay, 100%. The cat going into your baby's crib or the cat people coming over to your house and grabbing you?

02:08:02 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 1:

I have zero fear of this. I'm not worried about this. My wife has brought this up because of the horror stories she's heard. I think I need to – I'm more worried of my wife in this situation doing something that she's going to truly regret.

02:08:18 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 2:

But you understand, though, the moment that that cat does anything, like in Daisy's case, it's going to be blamed on you.

02:08:25 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 1:

How stupid is this? I didn't want the cat. I didn't want the cat in the first place, and now I have to protect the cat because that cat can't go. That cat cannot go. My daughter loves it. I know my wife does, too. She's just freaked out at this particular moment, and I didn't want the cat. Now I have to protect the cat. This is so dumb.

02:08:44 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 4:

That's how it goes with dads and pets. They always end up liking the pet more than everybody else.

02:08:50 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

How much you want to bet that Mike and the cat are living at his mom's house very soon? Shannon's got the dirty on the 30. We've got some special guests that we're going to bring on with us here in a second, too.

02:09:04 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 5:

So let's talk about Morgan Wallen. He's been a topic in the dirty all week, it seems. The head of his record label is denying this story that Morgan has an alcohol problem. Specifically, that he was too drunk to perform at his canceled show in Mississippi, the one that he canceled after the three headliners had already gone on stage. TikTok, this is a video that's going around TikTok. It's a security guard at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Mississippi telling fans after the show on Sunday that not only was Morgan so drunk he couldn't walk, but also that he had to be taken out of the venue by ambulance.

02:09:43 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 1:

You said he couldn't walk? I got something for that security guard.

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

You are so f***ing

02:10:00 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if he's fired yet, but his employer had to come out. His boss had to come out and say, that's not true. And that was the same thing that Morgan record label said. Yeah, so we'll see. Tucker Carlson has issued a statement following his exit this week from Fox News. This is a clip from a video that he posted on Twitter last night.

02:10:22 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 2:

Good evening, it's Tucker Carlson. One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country, kind and decent people, people who really care about what's true, and a bunch of hilarious people also, a lot of those. The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They're completely irrelevant.

02:10:49 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 7:

By the way, they say it has been offered jobs already, and they're saying that that Newsmax, which I can't even find it on my cable system,

02:10:57 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:10:58 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 7:

But that Newsmax.

02:10:58 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 5:

Somebody else just went there.

02:11:00 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 7:

Oh, what's his name? The guy, the governor of New York's brother. Cuomo? Cuomo, yeah. Yes, I knew somebody else had just gone there. Yeah. Okay. So they say that he's offered him money, not even close to what he was getting paid at Fox.

02:11:14 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 6:

Well, 20 million a year is hard to match. Isn't he too much of a liability?

02:11:18 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 7:

Well, they say that Tucker will go to wherever. It doesn't make a difference, the money, just to kind of see if he can take all of his audience with him.

02:11:25 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, if he's the major reason why he cost the network nearly a billion dollars, would anybody take that liability on?

02:11:32 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 7:

Well, that's the thing. Here's the thing, though. They say that that's not the case because they say that there were others that did that story, and Tucker was kind of against the story. They're saying now that he got fired because they got some ... He was texting the C-word about his female boss.

02:11:49 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 6:

Yes, and that came out the night before or something.

02:11:51 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 7:

The Wall Street Journal did a piece on that yesterday about some of the things that he was doing that finally the Murdochs were getting rid of him.

02:12:00 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 6:

Top Gun star Glenn Powell, also very popular in The Dirty this week. What is going on with him and White Lotus star Sidney Sweeney? Everybody wants to know. They've been very flirty on social media. They're starring in an upcoming romantic comedy together that they've been filming. Well, Glenn's girlfriend, Gigi Paris, definitely hinting that they are no longer together. She shared a video of herself walking alone on Instagram yesterday with the caption, know your worth and on to the next. And speculation grew that something was up when Gigi unfollowed Sydney Sweeney on social media earlier in the week. A source telling me the couple who has been dating since 2019 actually called it quits several weeks ago before all of these flirty videos of Glenn and Sydney started making the rounds on the Internet.

02:12:46 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Let's say they are a couple. You can't really come forward now, right? Because everybody's going to label her a homewrecker. This seems bad for her image.

02:12:54 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't know. And a lot of people are saying, I'm sure nothing's going on here. It's just a way to promote a movie. And Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon should have taken notes. Ew, could you? Oh, no, I don't like that. Because their movie, was that? That's right. That's who that was, right? Yes. I had to think for a second. Because their movie did so poorly because they had zero chemistry. I don't know.

02:13:14 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 4:

But could you imagine those two fake flirting with each other to try to promote their movie? It would be gross. All the juicy Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde fake relationships. That's what I'm living for, okay?

02:13:24 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 6:

That's kind of what this is, though, at this point. I know a ton of people watch and love this show. Netflix announcing that Black Mirror returns in June for season six. This season's roster is pretty impressive. It includes Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Rory Culkin, and Salma Hayek. And Keanu Reeves is going viral this morning for a video of him speaking to a nine-year-old superfan at a comic book sighting. The superfan's name is Noah. Listen to this.

02:13:55 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm such a big fan. What's your name? Noah. My name is Noah. Hi, Noah. I'm Keanu. You're probably my favorite actor in the whole world.

02:14:04 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, Noah. Thank you. Did you see Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4?

02:14:10 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's my favorite character.

02:14:12 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Canada's greatest stuntman. Well, I'm glad you liked it. I really liked playing.

02:14:18 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 5:

Even did the voices.

02:14:20 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

02:14:20 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 5:

Bro.

02:14:21 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 7:

Another reason we love the guy.

02:14:22 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 5:

I love him so much. Good person. Better person than actor, I think. Oh, my God. I did. I just do that. To rile her up. To rile her up. But also true. We're all in today's Dirty.

02:14:35 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 6:

Check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

people we have in studio with us the reason why you want to be raising money for make a wish when you meet families like this it makes you realize that a saturday morning that you normally would have just slept in that you should be getting out will you tell everybody when first off when is the

02:16:54 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 4:

the walk for wishes so it's a week from saturday uh may 6th uh registration starts at 8 a.m and where is it at it's at the detroit zoo so that would help what a no but what a beautiful

02:17:05 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 5:

thing to do you're just going to the zoo on a saturday morning and it looks like actually the weather's going to even warm up in the next week or so so it's gonna be nice uh to do this but here's the reason why in studio with us this morning are holly and abe and they brought with them Adam their youngest and then Elise their beautiful daughter and Abe what's happening dad how are you good how are you Mojo good man I I look at you and your beautiful family first off you've got just just the gorgeous you know children but you have a beautiful wife and stuff and I think of how your life changed just a couple of years ago with that sweetie that you have on your lap there. Elise, will you tell everybody that? Oh, Elise wants to tell. You want to tell everybody that? Hi, Elise. Elise, how are you doing? How are you feeling, Elise? Good. Yeah? I understand that you had some doctor's visits from time to time. Is that true? Yeah. Yeah? Did the doctors and nurses take care of you? Yeah. And do you feel so brave when you go see those doctors yeah good for you abe tell us about uh about elise and what she went through um elise

02:18:14 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 2:

had uh wounds tumor um she got diagnosed uh last year in april and she has a year ago yes a year ago in april and um our life completely changed overnight i mean it was just it was really really it was it really shocked for us we we had no idea we were in vacation of florida like three or four days before and her stomach was kind of a little bloated and uh we we thought it was just you know the normal kids not you know not using the restroom or anything and um came back home took her to the doctors straight to the emergency room um she got diagnosed first right there she had a willem's tumor which is it's on the kidneys both of them

02:19:02 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 5:

um yeah it was it was a really really hard experience mom how are you with all that holly how are you when that happened that had to just devastate you yeah there's no words for it

02:19:15 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 1:

you just you just never expect it yeah but you know after you get over the initial reaction you just full power mode yeah full adrenaline just let's get through this let's keep it positive

02:19:26 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 5:

And how old is Elise?

02:19:28 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

She's five. She was four and a half.

02:19:29 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 5:

Four and a half years old. And you learn quickly that a four and a half year old is pretty darn tough, right? Pretty darn brave.

02:19:36 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 1:

She didn't even know what was going on or why things were happening. And, I mean, you know, I did tell her, but.

02:19:41 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:19:42 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 1:

You know, they just are happy. And they're just, you know, everybody kept her happy around us. So many organizations and foundations. Yeah.

02:19:48 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 5:

Just worked really hard on that. Abe, tell everybody about what Make-A-Wish has done for you guys as a family.

02:19:55 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 2:

Make-A-Wish. uh made our life after at least had after at least had the surgery She was granted a trip to Disney World. Elise, Disney World. Who's your favorite Disney princess besides Megan from our show? Ariel. Ariel.

02:20:19 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

Good choice. They granted you guys this wish? They granted us the wish, and it was just the most amazing thing our family ever experienced. It was great. We got treated like royalty. we were staying at a village specifically for kids that they're going through stuff. Wow. And all the passes, all the parks. Yeah. Any kid can wish for it, any person can wish for it. And that made her really, really happy.

02:20:46 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you were pretty happy, huh? Did you get to have Mickey ears and all the rest of that stuff? Oh, yes. Yeah, pretty good. What was your favorite part of going to Disney World? What did you like the most, Elise? roller coasters oh really you got to go on roller coasters oh my god and was this wait was this after treatments that she was able to so she yeah so she gets so she goes through her treatments

02:21:12 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 3:

how long were treatments abe it was uh about a year altogether about a year of this and so you guys just recently went down went on this trip yes we just went in february and and make a wish

02:21:22 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

does a great job and let me say this to you make a wish is obviously known people know make a wish i did not know this how many wishes right now are are not granted yet because they're hoping to to be able to get some money raise some more money brian what is that what is that is how many percentage of it i i saw a number recently the percentage of wish yeah like how many wishes are waiting to be granted right now it's like hundreds right there's hundreds yeah yeah that's amazing

02:21:45 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 1:

and yeah which it uh reinforces why events like walk for wishes are that important absolutely

02:21:51 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 2:

How much money in years past has Planet Fitness been able to garner up here in the area?

02:21:57 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 1:

So we have raised over half a million dollars.

02:22:00 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 2:

That's unbelievable. That's great. That's awesome. How is, by the way, Adam doing over there? I see Adam. Adam, are you having a smoothie right there? What kind of smoothie did Adam get from the smoothie king? He's loving it.

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 4:

He literally has not stopped.

02:22:13 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

Did he? How great is that? You guys are awesome. You guys are great, Brian. I'm going to be out today from 5 till 7 with Dr. Darius. And then tomorrow, Jay Towers is going to be out. Actually, one of your locations, Jay Towers and Trudy from our sister stations are going to be out. Where are they going to be? At our Warren 12-mile location. And that's going to be fun, too, raising money.

02:22:34 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 4:

And again, even if you go in and donate $2, that helps. You can get the coupon for the free smoothie. And if a lot of people did that, we're raising a whole bunch of money. Absolutely.

02:22:43 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 2:

Put the mic in front of Holly for a second because I want to ask her this question. Because you moms amaze me. Like my wife, Chelsea, you've heard me talk about Chelsea before on the air. I don't know. When my kids hurt themselves, I cower. I get so, you know, worked up about it. You find out that your four-year-old beauty queen over there has cancer. How did you keep it together for Abe and for Elise and for Adam?

02:23:10 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 5:

It took some time to be able to do that. So we were a mess for a good while. But, you know, we have other kids at home, and you have to be strong for them.

02:23:19 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 2:

What were the hardest moments for you?

02:23:23 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 5:

Telling our other kids, you know, them being scared, having to tell Elise, which they have really good child care specialists at the hospital at U of M. They helped us talk to her and make it so she understood, and the doctors were just always so positive. That's what kept us going through it all.

02:23:40 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:23:40 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 2:

I think Adam's drinking that smoothie too fast. He's going to get a brain freeze.

02:23:44 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 4:

Do you have a brain freeze? It's going to happen.

02:23:46 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 2:

It's brain freezing over there.

02:23:48 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 4:

It's good, isn't it?

02:23:49 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Abe, you have a gorgeous family. Where have we been? Is this Instagram or something like that? Facebook Live. Facebook Live. We're on Facebook Live. You want to see what this family looks like. You want to see how gorgeous these people are. And you want to give the reason why you're going to come out today between 5 and 7 to the Planet Fitness in Canton and say hi to me. 02:24:20 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 4:

02:24:21 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Tyler, are you somebody I should know so that I can have an in when the line's long at Smoothie King?

02:24:25 - 02:24:27 | Unknown:

Yeah, I'm actually going to be at Smoothie King.

02:24:27 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good. I'll see you today. You and I are going to become friends. We're going to bring lots of those free smoothie cards. I will be right there with you. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning coming up in a second. Thank you guys so much. You guys did a great job on the radio. Give it up for these guys. mojo in the morning good to have uh you with us home of the phone scams war of the roses dirty on 30 i want to uh bring up something that i was just looking through the news on and saw for possible trending news and then I mentioned it and KP said you got to do it now because I actually have done exactly this. There's a story that is in the news this morning and I saw it last night on our local Channel 4 and Channel 2 on Fox 2 and Channel Local 4. Seventh grader from Warren Consolidated Schools by the name of Dylan a seventh grader from carter middle school is a hero and they're actually holding a press conference today where they are going to honor him in the school district and i think that the he's going to have like some political people probably giving him you know some accolades for what he did listen to this the seventh grader was on a school bus with his classmates riding home when the bus driver became lightheaded and lost consciousness. Here, I'll let Maura McDonald from Local 4, who tells a story better than anybody. She's very dramatic. She's going to tell you the story. Here you go.

02:26:07 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 1:

The school district letting parents know it was a 7th grade boy who jumped in to save the day when his bus driver lost consciousness here on Masonic near Bunnert. As soon as the district posted on its Facebook page about the situation, It went viral, and it's been shared thousands of times across social media platforms, including from Macomb County Executive Mark Hackle with a, as you can see, shout out to Dylan, Macomb County's local hero. The praise is pouring in tonight, and not just from strangers, but from parents of children who are on the bus as well. Warren Consolidated School Superintendent Dr. Robert Livernois saying that boy's actions made all the difference today, and the district could not be prouder of him.

02:26:51 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 2:

So the bus driver becomes unconscious and the kid notices this, which is amazing because it's hard to believe he wasn't looking at his phone and not looking up at the bus driver and he gets up there and he drives, he does, ready for this? He does a Keanu Reeves.

02:27:12 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 1:

I didn't see that movie. You never saw Speed?

02:27:14 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 2:

I didn't.

02:27:15 - 02:27:15 | Unknown:

What?

02:27:15 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's because you don't like Keanu Reeves.

02:27:17 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 1:

Are you? As an actor.

02:27:18 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 2:

That's one of the best. Honestly, it's probably Keanu Reeves' besides John Wick best movie.

02:27:24 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 1:

Not the fourth one. First of all, wrong. Bill and Ted. Thank you, Mike. Thank you, Mike. That is the correct answer.

02:27:31 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Let's talk about this kid first, though. Let's talk about Dylan. Dylan from Carter Middle School. Amazing that he was able to do this and be able to save, you know. First off, this kid better get more than just like a certificate of appreciation. He should get, like, they should name the bus after him or give him a bus. Let him have his own bus. He gets his own. He gets to go home on a bus with no other kids on it. To go home. With a bus driver that doesn't get unconscious. He needs to get something big.

02:28:05 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 1:

That is crazy, though.

02:28:06 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 2:

Somebody needs to tell us, if you know this kid or know the school or whatever, tell us what they're doing for the kid.

02:28:10 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 1:

That he even knew what to do to be able to drive the bus.

02:28:13 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, KP said, KP puts herself into the story saying, I could have done this Because it's something that you did When you were a young kid

02:28:22 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Let me be very clear I was not the hero in this situation This situation reminds me When I was, I think I was 9 My mom Our family has a lot of kids There was 5 of us at the time She was hauling all of us In this big white creepy van Like a 15 passenger van Yeah And the van was parked in our driveway and my mom was buckling my brother, Aaron. Actually, I don't think Aiden was born yet. Aaron was getting buckled in the garage.

02:28:54 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Can I say real quick before I'm going to stop you?

02:28:56 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:28:57 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

The listeners may not know this. KP is the oldest of six kids. So she's got a family that's like monster size. All right, go ahead.

02:29:04 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Anyway, so my mom was buckling my brother into a car seat little, you know, just to put it in the car. So they weren't in the car yet. Yeah. I decided that I was going to put our family van in reverse.

02:29:16 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, KP. Reverse, reverse.

02:29:18 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 3:

I was like, oh, that's cool. I was like in front of the car, and then I put the car in reverse, and we were on a hill. And that car was rolling backwards. With kids in it. With all of us in it, except my brother Aaron, because my mom was chasing the van down the driveway. And I feel like my mom could better explain this situation.

02:29:36 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Your mom's on the phone. Mama KP is on with us right now. What's happening?

02:29:40 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 3:

Morning. Morning, morning.

02:29:41 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember this like it was yesterday?

02:29:44 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. What a traumatic day that was. Yeah.

02:29:47 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

So what?

02:29:48 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 3:

It was not a creepy van. We had a fantastic Dodge. She's more offended by that. How did it stop, though, eventually?

02:29:57 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'll tell you my story. I think you were eight, Kristen, so KP was eight, and then I had a seven-year-old, five-year-old, and, yeah, I had the baby, 20 months old, I was buckling him up, and I actually, I think I was pregnant with number five at the time, so loading up the clown car, and I had the baby carrier in the garage buckling him up. the three others were in the van and i just hear mama faint screaming and i turn around and yeah kp popped it into reverse i leave the baby carrier on the ground and i waddle run my pregnant bunt down the driveway and i teatro reed speed it uh you know onto the running board open the door

02:30:43 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 2:

no you did not mom it was the guy across the street oh no guy across the street was running

02:30:49 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 1:

we slammed on the brakes i looked behind me the neighbor was there was a woman she was standing in front of her mailbox with her hands out like she's gonna scarlet witch stop it with telekinesis to save her mailbox uh barely you know just barely getting it down that was that was a little traumatic oh my god conference still in that is a story you need you know what i think

02:31:14 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 5:

kp uh kp your mom deserves to get accolades from uh from the like warren's gonna do for them what town was this in was this also in lake orion where you guys are actually no this is actually in tampa oh it was in tampa all right well we'll have to figure out i still will accept a press

02:31:31 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 1:

conference and an interview with Mara McDonald.

02:31:33 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 2:

My rear was red for a week. Oh, that was, yeah. The worst bacon of my life.

02:31:41 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 5:

Can I be honest with you, though? Truth on this one. That was the point in KP's life where she was the best driver.

02:31:49 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 4:

That's what I was going to say. What if this kid doesn't pass his driver's test when he turns 16 like I didn't? KP is a very

02:31:57 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 5:

scary driver, especially now with that big Silverado pickup trick. Hold on real quick. Tamika's on with us. You are a bus driver for the Warren School District? Yes, sir. Tell us, what's the story that they're going to do for this kid? Do they have any big plans? Not that I know of. Oh, well, then, okay.

02:32:17 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 4:

He needs like a key to the city, something Mojo has wanted forever. Something big.

02:32:22 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 5:

I'm looking for, like, an actuality of somebody saying something big to us. Question for you. Is the bus driver okay?

02:32:30 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 3:

All we know is that she passed out

02:32:35 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 4:

And that she's okay And that's all they're giving us

02:32:39 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay I heard the story

02:32:42 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 4:

From Laura McDonald I heard the story yesterday

02:32:45 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that the kids that ride on your bus Would be alert enough to know this Or would they be in their cell phones Not even looking up and paying attention

02:32:55 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 4:

Well I drive a special needs bus Oh okay

02:32:59 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 5:

Somebody was telling me, a bus driver from one of the other districts was telling me when I went to a school visit that the kids, the big thing now on school buses is the kids miss their stops because they're looking at their phones and they don't realize that they're actually in front of their bus stop. So they have to, like, the bus drivers have to go back and drive them back to their stops. Or they have to go back to school and their parent has to come pick them up.

02:33:22 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 3:

They never go back to school, but, yeah, they have to turn around and go back because they fall asleep, too. They fall asleep. Oh, that was mean.

02:33:29 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that was me.

02:33:30 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 5:

Yep. All right, Tamika, take care of yourself.

02:33:33 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:33:34 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 5:

Goodbye. KP's mom, do the kids ride the bus in your household? Does KP's little brother ride a bus to school?

02:33:41 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we've got one driving and then one periodically riding the bus. And I would not put it past him. He would definitely be the one that's sleeping on the back, headphones on. He can walk home if they take him back to school or make a place at the bus depot. That's fine.

02:33:57 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny is that I actually loved riding the bus. Kids nowadays don't want to ride a bus. They want their parents dropping them off.

02:34:03 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 2:

You know, Mama KP is funny because there was a period of my life where I kept missing the bus in the morning because I kept sleeping through the morning. And she got so mad at me that she drove me halfway to school and made me walk the rest of the way. It took me three hours to get to school. I was there by lunch. No, Mom, I was there by lunch.

02:34:22 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm not kidding. You're so melodramatic. No!

02:34:24 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 2:

It took me three hours.

02:34:26 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 5:

Are you telling stories?

02:34:26 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 4:

I kind of love this, Mama KP.

02:34:28 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:34:29 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 4:

That's a good lesson.

02:34:29 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 5:

Call her out. Do us a favor, will you? When she tells a story on the air that you know is complete bullcrap, you have the inside line here. Lydia, you always put KP's mom through because we do that with moms. Moms get first right of refusal.

02:34:42 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm talking more about her parenting style.

02:34:45 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 5:

I like that, though. I like that she calls her out like that. That's good.

02:34:50 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 1:

You're going to have to put me on payroll the amount of times I'm going to call in.

02:34:53 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, good. Okay. All right. We'll talk to you later. It's worse than ghosting.

02:35:00 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 1:

Tell me if you think that this is the case. Getting zombied is the new dating trend.

02:35:07 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 4:

All these new terms. I can't keep up.

02:35:09 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 1:

What is zombied? So I'm going to tell you coming up here in just one second. Matter of fact, I'll have her tell you what getting zombied is. But they say it's worse than ghosting. And then a couple other dating stories I want to bring up here this morning as we get going here on the show. Here's getting zombied.

02:35:26 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 2:

Girl, you're being ghosted? I'm not here being zombied It's like ghosting but he comes back from the dead After a couple months and hits you up

02:35:34 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah there you go That's actually a newer trend That's happening according to this TikToker

02:35:41 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 3:

If it's a new trend I feel like it's a new name for a trend That's been around for a very long time

02:35:46 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 1:

So what's worse not having him call Or calling you after he realizes There's nothing else out there And he's calling you back

02:35:53 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 4:

Being zombied is way more offensive

02:35:55 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of factors at play here how good was it is it worth circling back to how did things end how lonely are we currently okay all right fair enough i'll be real honest there are some people that could circle back right now that i would be like let me leave the show early let's let's throw in some songs i gotta go and some other people where it's a new number who dis have you ever done that by the way what

02:36:18 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 4:

left early and just throw no threw it themselves to go home you'll never know okay i guess we'll

02:36:24 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 1:

never know left wait left early and gone home to have sex or just left early and gone home because

02:36:29 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 3:

they had something else to do no one time i just left early and i just sat here and i listened to

02:36:33 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 1:

you guys i was like yeah um check this other one out here dating coach from new york believes that ladies should never split the bill during a date because she believes that guys who ask them to contribute don't value the time and effort that they put into looking best for that man So Ella Freeman is a dating specialist. She says because she has such high standards and knows what she brings to the table, she will never split a meal with a guy. And she says other women should do that, too. If a guy actually says, hey, let's split this or does it. Call us up and tell us if a guy's ever done that to you. How has he said, let's split it? Does he say, hey, let's put down cards? Any of you guys had that happen where a guy asked you to split a meal?

02:37:23 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 5:

Venmo requests, you know.

02:37:25 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Wait, they will ask you? That's even worse than saying that's...

02:37:27 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 5:

But was it talked about or did you just get a Venmo request? He'll be like, hey, I'm going to Venmo request you right now. And, like, that's that.

02:37:37 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no. Is there a problem with that? That's tacky.

02:37:40 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 5:

I mean, if you're not, you know, if you're looking to be romantic, that is, I don't like that yet. Yeah.

02:37:45 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 3:

See, I disagree. I don't, like, I think paying for myself is what's empowering. Like, I don't want you to. And I don't know what it is about some guys that feel like if they paid, they're entitled and like we owe them something. And I hate that. So I'd much rather just share our time together and see if we liked each other versus feeling like you are expecting something out of me because you've paid.

02:38:09 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 4:

I went on a first date with a guy. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. This was in Atlanta when I was living in Atlanta. I'll never forget this. The bill comes and it was kind of like a more expensive bill because I think we got drinks too. and he put down his card and you know how you do the oh no no I've got it again first date he goes oh okay and took his card out of the thing you dug your own grave I was like I didn't mean it

02:38:34 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 3:

you know what good for him douchebag he saw the opportunity

02:38:40 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 1:

and the latest trend now is not to go out and have your first date be at bars or restaurants the latest trend now for first dates people who go do an activity like yoga or go to the zoo or walks in the park together oh i would never have been able to

02:39:03 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 4:

find anybody i like that a ton i don't like it you have to be active i don't want to do it it's

02:39:09 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 1:

a thing gym first day gym first dates oh yeah you want to be next to me in a gym no you wouldn't date somebody like me how about this one another new trend a new trend is people that go to boot camps together would you go to a boot camp like a fitness boot camp yeah fitness boot camp would you go that's like that means more that means i mean it means more dates but it means that you

02:39:31 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 3:

actually have to do like a boot camp absolutely how are you having a conversation have you ever been to a boot camp where it wasn't actually kicking your ass right thank you oh my god

02:39:41 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 1:

Thank God I'm married. What's up, Haley?

02:39:46 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey. What's going on? One time years ago, I got taken on a date. Well, I thought it was going to be a date. I was expecting a nice restaurant.

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 3:

Had me get ready He picked me up And he took me to Wendy's And then I had to pay for myself

02:40:09 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 1:

What? The guy made you pay at Wendy's He couldn't even pay for Whatever combo you were going to get Did you get the spicy nuggets?

02:40:21 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 3:

No The problem was I wasn't really expecting To pay for anything so I barely Even brought anything with me so all I could get Was fries Oh, no. Oh, Haley.

02:40:30 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 1:

That's ridiculous. Yeah. Please tell me you're not married to this guy. You know how they always end the stories where they'll go, and by the way, we're married.

02:40:36 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 3:

And now we're married and have two kids. No, he actually was cheating on me with my best friend. Oh. And I'm married now, happily married to a man that- Did he pay for her spicy nuggets?

02:40:47 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:40:47 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 3:

Probably.

02:40:48 - 02:40:49 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:40:50 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 1:

That's brutal when they do that. The whole idea that they take you to some place and they pick the place. Like, in the worst is when they pick a place that's really expensive and then expect you to do that. Like, I think what happens before the date happens, if I was a smart guy, I would say, listen, I want to take you out. And I would make it seem, you know, that way. Yeah. And if you don't do it that way and you want to split it, I would say, hey, why don't we go and we'll go eat together.

02:41:17 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 2:

Leaves it very open.

02:41:18 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 1:

You've got to be able to verbalize it the right way. Because if you do it in a way that makes it seem like you're going to buy the date, no matter what you look like, there's no way she's going to want to go out again with you. What's up, Stephanie?

02:41:32 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi. I just had a comment. I was just, I'm sitting here laughing because my wife and I have been married for four years. And when we first started dating, we would, like, argue back and forth. I'd be like, oh, no, I'll pay for it. And I think it's just kind of a respect thing when you're on a date. Like, someone's just always, you know, the one to be like, oh, hey, you know, I got this. I got this. It's just kind of like a gesture. And then we would kind of take turns back and forth. But I'd usually, you know, one of us would always be like, no, I got it this time. I got it this time. But we've laughed about how, you know, what do we do?

02:42:05 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 1:

Is it confusing in a gay relationship to know who's going to pay for the date, whether you are male, female, you know, and knowing this?

02:42:15 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think when you're going on a date, you just, you know, some, you know, whoever comes first, like, or whoever's the one that, you know, puts it out there first and is like, hey, I got this, you know, but I would never.

02:42:25 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever do credit card roulette where you kind of like throw it out whoever's credit card they grab?

02:42:33 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 2:

No, I've always been, usually it's me to be like, oh, I got this, you know, and it's not, you know, it's not usually because you expect anything. but again i don't know if that's changing gender gender i don't know but uh but for us it's a little different now my son is 23 and he you know when he meets people for the first time especially if he's met them online and he hasn't you know when he hasn't even met him yet um he does the park thing they'll go for ice cream um go to the park see if they you know take a walk or go do like an activity and he said he'll usually pay for that but it's something like you know smaller yeah yeah right right because he said you know a lot of times he's met people where um he said it seems like some of the girls will just um some of the women expect him to you know go to some big fancy dinner and he's like i'm just seeing if i you know even get along with that yeah so yeah that's what i would do if it's like a first date you're right you're raising a smart guy thank you for the call thank you all right bye uh bye we'll see you Bye.

02:43:37 - 02:43:37 | Unknown:

Bye.

02:43:38 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 2:

I love when people do that. Bye.

02:43:41 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 1:

We've got breaking news this morning into us, and it's a celebrity death. Sad. Jerry Springer, one of the most influential and controversial figures in TV history, has died. Jerry Springer, he hosted the hit syndicated show, The Jerry Springer Show, for 27 years. It never had a boring moment. It always had so much fun with, obviously, the audience cheering Jerry, Jerry, Jerry, and they were looking for the more dysfunction that was there. He paved the way for a lot of dysfunction on both radio and television during that time.

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

By the way, he was diagnosed with cancer.

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 4:

couple of months ago, and his family just said he took a turn for the worse this week, and so he died this morning at his home. He started off

02:45:06 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 3:

as a politician, remember? He was the mayor of Cincinnati.

02:45:10 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 1:

What happened? Why did that stop? Why did

02:45:14 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 3:

that stop? Him being a politician? Yeah. Because he made too much money doing the TV show. No, no. Oh, what? Oh, he got himself into a little contract. What, he had an affair or something? What did he do?

02:45:23 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 4:

He paid for a hooker with a check. Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. Oh, gosh. Yeah, good for him.

02:45:29 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? It made his career, right?

02:45:31 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, absolutely. Think about this.

02:45:32 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 3:

He probably would have been just the mediocre mayor from Cincinnati and done nothing else other than that, you know? And then he ends up doing that, gets on the forefront, and now he's an icon. But he is commonly...

02:45:46 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 4:

He is a pop culture icon.

02:45:50 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, people call it a Jerry Springer moment, or they start chanting Jerry, Jerry, Jerry whenever things happen.

02:45:57 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

02:45:57 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 3:

Sean Streif is in studio Who is Sean Streif? Is this breaking news? Or are you just coming in just to hang out?

02:46:04 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 2:

I was actually just bringing in a friend here This is Kristen from Lakeland High School She's shadowing me today

02:46:09 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 3:

Hello Kristen from Lakeland High School Brought her in to hang out and listen to the trending news I love it. How you doing Kristen from Lakeland High School? It's nice to have you here You picked the right guy to shadow Because I'm going to tell you this You'd get nothing out of shadowing the rest of us We've had shadows Just go get us food All right. You just placed an order. Can you go pick it up for us, please? What do you guys think is the most complained about U.S. airline of 2022?

02:46:37 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 4:

Spirit.

02:46:38 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 3:

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. No, not United. No.

02:46:42 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 4:

Frontier?

02:46:43 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 3:

Frontier Airlines wins the award.

02:46:46 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe it's not Spirit.

02:46:47 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Frontier Airlines is the most complained about airlines. More complaints, which, by the way, had 20.26 complaints per 100,000 passengers, more than double the rate of Sparrett Airlines, which had 10.1 complaints per 100,000 passengers.

02:47:07 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 4:

But do people even complain to Sparrett because they know nothing's going to happen?

02:47:11 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 3:

That's true. I sent you guys yesterday a TikTok of the lady who was at Detroit Metro Airport watching them duct tape the outside of a Sparrett Airlines plane.

02:47:21 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 4:

You need to play it, because her commentary is so funny. Is it? It's not done. I don't know if she says.

02:47:27 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so.

02:47:28 - 02:47:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't think she says any swear words in it.

02:47:29 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 3:

Here, I'll play it for you guys.

02:47:31 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 4:

She's literally sitting in a window seat, watching right out her window as they're using duct tape, which I'm sure is a fancy kind of duct tape that is suitable for an airplane. But still, she's watching them duct tape the plane before they take off.

02:47:44 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 3:

You think that they have airline duct tape?

02:47:48 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 1:

And this is the exact reason why I don't fly with Spears. I don't care if it is aviation, airplane tape, or nothing. The fact that you even have to take the plane together, and then you're doing it while people are on the flight like we cannot see you. That's the reason right there that I will not fly with Spears. Is this Cardi B's cousin?

02:48:09 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Sounds like Cardi B.

02:48:11 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 1:

I love her.

02:48:13 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 3:

What have we got here? Next story here. And then I got to leave. I was looking. Oh, dozens of school districts across the country are ditching homework and deadlines for projects to be turned in in favor of equitable grading. The systems in states like Nevada, California, Iowa, Virginia, and other states are moving towards this new system saying that homework is typically something that is never really done right anyway and done right less by kids who don't have mom and dad both at home to help them with this. So they're calling it an equity thing. Why did this not happen when I was in school?

02:48:56 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 4:

So Lucy's school does this. They have no homework. They have optional homework if they want to do it to help them better understand a subject or whatever. But they just said kids are so bogged down with other things these days. They want them to spend time with their families when they're at home.

02:49:10 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 3:

I think it's interesting because that is the case that, okay, they're going to spend time with their families. This one is the case that there are certain kids that go home and don't have anybody that's there. Yeah, absolutely. All right. Final story, and it's a great one. Because if you've ever been to a little league sporting event or younger kids, you know, sporting event and notice that the parents these days are just crazed. They go absolutely nuts when they're watching the game and they'll yell at these poor umpires or referees. The South Jersey Little League organization has set a new rule to cut down on parent spectators in the stands from screaming at the umpires. The new rule is this. If you are doing this and get thrown out of the game, the spectator. a parent has to volunteer to umpire for three games to be allowed back on the sidelines to spectate their child's game so what they do instead of saying you can't just go to your kid's game they say to you here's what's going to happen we're putting you in the place of the umpire that you were just yelling at and we're going to make you umpire a game or three games actually in this case in order to be able to come back and watch your child's game i think it's a great idea great idea i mean i think that if you've ever you know seen some of these parents they go crazy uh out on fields and courts and i was a coach and i yelled at you know referees from time to time but i always did it subtly like i always said to them if you don't get this next call right i'm going to talk about you tomorrow morning at 7 30. did you have you ever said that for real i honestly would get calls though there were referees that were listeners and they would From time to time, I could tell that they were favoring our team because maybe they were listeners or not favoring our team because they didn't like the show. They didn't like the show, yeah. Winner for Naughty Moms Night Out is Jessica. Jessica, you're a winner. Congratulations.

02:51:08 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 5:

And do you have a friend that you want to bring with you?

02:51:26 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Absolutely.

02:51:28 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. And what are your kids' names?

02:51:32 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 5:

Kinsley and Caden.

02:51:33 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 3:

And how old are Kinsley and Caden? They've got to be young, right?

02:51:36 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 5:

No, they're 11 and 14. Oh, jeez. They drive me crazy. They're so busy always with their schedules, so I need this for sure.

02:51:44 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Do you still have a babysitter for them, or what will they do? Will they stay home?

02:51:48 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 5:

No, they'll stay home with Dad.
