2 1 This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:28 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 4:

I am kind of a wimpy Cuban guy, you know what I mean?

00:02:30 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 1:

I eat half an Oreo with the cream scraped off and I gain another butt cheek, just like that.

00:02:35 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 3:

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:41 - 00:03:19 | Unknown:

Showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:19 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 4:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show what a weekend huh what a weather weekend we won't get into that though because you know what i'm at that point right now where i'm gonna be that guy that's gonna get that light for my house that's going to actually make me feel better for some reason. Or pure Prozac. I don't know. One of those two is going to be helping me out here. Happy May. Oh, my God. It's going to be May. That's right. We got to pull out a little NSYNC this morning and play it. I can't believe it. It's already May 1st. I know that you guys feel like this year has been going by as fast as I feel like it's been going by. But it does feel like that last weekend, for some reason, went by even faster. Is it just me? Did it fly? I agree with you.

00:04:15 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we were just in here playing the throwback throwdown,

00:04:17 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

and there was no weekend. It's crazy. Got a good show for you today. Second date update's coming up this morning. Why are you not getting a call back? Wait till you hear what he did, or I'm sorry, what he wore that has caused for him to not get a call back. That's happening this morning. Shannon, with a lot of breaking dirty news, the 5 at 6.55. We got good contests, Taylor Swift tickets to give away. Oh, we got some throwback shows. How about this? A chance for you to see Snoop and Wiz Khalifa. We'll have that for you. If you're a fan of One Direction, Louie Tomlinson, we've got some more of those tickets to give away. Naughty Moms Night Out. We're getting closer and closer.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 1:

closer to Naughty Mom's Night Out happening on May the 12th. I got to write this down, by the way. I got to make sure that I go. I always end up waiting until the week of Mother's Day, my anniversary, and Chelsea's birthday to go and figure out what I'm buying her, and I got to figure it out now.

00:05:20 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you too. Just be prepared.

00:05:22 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 1:

I got to do it now. I mean, seriously. And then I'm getting on my oldest sons because I always say to them, hey, make sure you remember to put a card in the mail. And I literally have paid FedEx to FedEx a card from my kids before. I've paid to overnight cards from when they were in college so that Chelsea would have a card to open up. And you know what Saturday delivery is on a FedEx?

00:05:48 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

It's expensive.

00:05:49 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's put it this way. The card alone, you know, it costs you $5.95.

00:05:53 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

$5? That's cheap for a card right now.

00:05:56 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 1:

But the delivery was like $38 or something like that. Oh, my gosh. For the delivery of just a card. Because that's all she wants is a freaking card. And you know what? It's the least that the kids could do.

00:06:06 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, greeting cards are like $6.99.

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

I know. At Target.

00:06:11 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

Like, not the fancy places.

00:06:13 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

It's insane. The ones that have the, was it the shine on them, the glow on them, or whatever it is on the things? Those ones are even more expensive.

00:06:22 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Y'all buy cards. I love cards. I'm such a card buyer.

00:06:25 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 1:

By the way, the funny thing is that Chelsea loves homemade cards. Like she likes just get a piece of paper and a marker or something and do something nice. But I have something I would like to bring up here right now. I got to spend the night with Megan, literally, like spend the night where she stayed the night over. And my wife was involved too, okay. And by the way, my favorite is, posted a picture of it yesterday on our social media saying Girls Night Out. And it was me and Chelsea and my wife and Megan. And people are like, you're not a girl.

00:07:06 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 2:

They didn't get the joke.

00:07:08 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, they obviously aren't longtime listeners of the show because you'll know that I'm just as much of a girl than Megan is. But I would like to say this about hanging out with Megan for a weekend. Liza Minnelli. Isn't that what you say all the time? It is. It is. What did I lie about? So I have three things that are pure lies about Megan. Shannon, I want you to get close to the radio here right now. All right. I'm listening. Because you're going to learn something about Megan. Number one lie about Megan. Megan says that she hates kids, but she loves them and they love her.

00:07:50 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Megan. I love you. Well, I knew that kids love her because my kids, on the few occasions that they have met her, love her. But I did not know that she loved kids. What is this lie that has been going on for years?

00:08:04 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Friends of ours, their kids just got done celebrating a birthday and they got a chance to meet Megan and they brought their kids to say hi to her and their kids were complete a-holes. Right? They were in. They were tired. They were They just got done You know Hanging out At some play place You know Jumping around Eating pizza and stuff And they were jumping All over the place And Megan was the most Compassionate person That I've ever seen With kids And it's so much That she loves kids That I ended up getting A phone call From our friends And they said That Danny Little Danny Kids suck That he was asking About Megan the next day Can I see Megan Can I see Megan And I know your kids do too Your kids like Megan too So number one lie She doesn't say F them babies Maybe she doesn't like babies Maybe that's the thing She likes kids But she doesn't like babies

00:08:58 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 2:

Kids that actually have a personality You're kind of blowing my cover here Oh I want to hear more

00:09:03 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

That hard shell around her is lies Number two Megan doesn't drink Okay we've heard this before That Megan's not a drinker Remember that? Yeah well and

00:09:15 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

And even when we're out with her She'll have Audrey She pours the shot on the floor, gives it away.

00:09:21 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. I've seen her do that. Let me say this about Megan. She drank, like drink for drink with my wife, Chelsea, who, by the way, likes to drink. I mean, she knows how to drink. And she drank drink for drink, dirty martinis made with gin, not vodka. And she wasn't even close to being drunk.

00:09:44 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 2:

Are you drunk?

00:09:46 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you have a tolerance. No. she's got a tolerance there's something to it i have no idea and because those that have ever gone out to eat with megan she's the slowest eater i've ever seen like honestly it's

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

the most embarrassing thing ever because I've eaten like 12 meals by the time that she's still nibbling on like her first appetizer.

00:10:08 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 3:

That's because you ask all the questions and she's the one talking. Thank you very much. KP, I was going to say I am way more interested in having a good conversation than a good meal.

00:10:17 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

So I would much rather talk to people. But wait a second. If you had that many martinis and you weren't drunk that means that you have built up a tolerance.

00:10:24 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 3:

No. You want to know what the most unfortunate thing in the entire world is? I just, I don't really get I don't want to say I don't really get drunk Because I can get drunk It just takes an extreme amount I don't know what it is

00:10:39 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

She's got an amazing tolerance

00:10:40 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

There are quite a few girls in my family That can definitely out drink the men And I think I might be one of them

00:10:46 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 2:

Look at how big I am, okay

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 4:

I am twice the size You're a lightweight

00:10:51 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm twice the size of Megan And I had one sip of a drink and I was wasted

00:10:56 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 4:

And you have to announce to everybody around you how wasted you are.

00:11:00 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, like I'm literally like, I'm so drunk. All right.

00:11:04 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

I can't feel my tongue. I feel like I need like witnesses for this conversation. Do I need to start calling people saying if they're awake right now to call in?

00:11:13 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 2:

You know what? We can always bring it up even later this morning. I would call Chelsea, but if I call her right now on the first day that Luke doesn't have any school for the whole time of his life, she would kill me that this is the first day she can actually sleep in. All right. In lie number three, this is the biggest of all the lies here. This is the Liza Minnelli of Liza Minnelli's for Megan, who I spent the weekend with and slept over at our house this weekend. You know how we always say that Megan sleeps all weekend? That she's, you know, at home, in bed, sleeping the entire weekend, right?

00:11:47 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 3:

You make me want to stop sleeping with a bunch of guys.

00:11:50 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Not that kind of sleeping. You know how she's always been known as, she hibernates all weekend?

00:11:57 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm always very jealous of how much sleep she gets.

00:11:59 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 2:

I call bull crap on that one, Shannon, because we got home really late. We all went to bed, and I said to Chelsea, I go, this is going to be so great. I said, let's just do this. Because we told Megan, text us when you wake up. When you wake up, then we'll all get up, and then we'll go grab brunch right afterwards. and I said she's not going to wake up until 10, 11, maybe noon.

00:12:22 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's going to be a later brunch.

00:12:23 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

It'll be unbelievable that I get to sleep in because I never get to sleep in like this and I was wasted and I was feeling like this.

00:12:30 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 1:

She wakes up at 7 a.m. What? Yes, she gets up at 7 a.m. Okay.

00:12:43 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Don't buzzer me. Do not buzzer me. I, uh, okay, can I get my side of what happened this weekend? Go ahead.

00:12:51 - 00:12:51 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:12:52 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 2:

The floor is yours. Oh, we're running out of time. Go ahead.

00:12:54 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 3:

The first one, the kids. Could you imagine if I was mean to your friend's kids? Like that was off the table. It had to be nice. Number two, uh, drinking. I can't help it that you're a lightweight and I'm better than you. Number three, the sleeping thing. Genuinely, I was so stressed out about what time to wake up. I was talking to Chelsea, your wife, and I said, okay, so like, what time do you guys get up and she said and i quote we get the dogs out around 6 45 and then we just kind of hang out and relax so i said well i can't sleep past like 7 30 yeah but he's just gonna be waiting around yeah oh that would give me anxiety too i had alarm set to get my ass up so that they weren't waiting around for me i hate when people won't give me a time in the morning so i was like all right you said 6.5 let's let's wake the f up do you know how much i was dragging ass yesterday

00:13:47 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 2:

and i'm tired this morning because we didn't get to bed until you know the witching hours and then seven o'clock in the morning chelsea looks like the dogs do get up at that time but honestly what we do is take the dogs out feed them and then they come jump in bed with us and we fall asleep for hours all right and the dogs even will fall asleep and my dog by the way needs a CPAP machine because he's snoring like a, seriously, like a buzzsaw. So, all of a sudden, Chelsea goes, Megan's up. I go, Megan's up? She goes, Megan's up. I go, Megan, how is Megan up?

00:14:20 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 4:

How did Chelsea know that Megan was up? Because Megan texted her.

00:14:23 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. And said, hey, I'm up. Going to take a shower. Be ready in 30 minutes at 7 a.m.

00:14:29 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 3:

No, no. I didn't know. No. 7 a.m. Y'all, trust me. I didn't even want to be up. I was afraid that I was the bad friend. I wanted to sleep.

00:14:39 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm not kidding you when I say this to you, that it was the worst feeling in the world. And I was very, very upset about this. And I said to Chelsea, I go, you know what this is like? Having a baby again. Remember when you would have a baby and your baby would wake up in the morning? I'm like, I said, Chelsea, you go get her. I got her last time.

00:14:56 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 1:

It's your time.

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so here are two questions.

00:15:00 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 2:

What time then did you guys head to brunch? Did you go to brunch? Yeah, we ended up heading. We actually couldn't even go to a brunch because guess what? They call it breakfast at that time. They don't even call it brunch. We ended up going before 9 o'clock. Honestly, we were able to walk in and get a table right away. They weren't even busy.

00:15:19 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

And what time were you back home in Toledo and already in your bed sleeping because you were so tired from waking up at 7 in the morning?

00:15:25 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 4:

Like 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:15:26 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 2:

It was unbelievable. I knew it. It was so Yesterday was the longest day of my life And I said to Chelsea I go this is actually kind of a fun thing And then I even made this reference I said you know what would be really fun And I think that I'm inviting All of you guys to come and sleep over at my house Because I'm starting to like realize My kids are leaving the house And I'm going to be an empty nester here soon So I'm getting kind of depressed But I thought oh it would be so fun to have the entire show Everybody come over on a Friday night we'll all have like you know drinks food whatever and everybody spend the night and we have a slumber party and you know watch it you know maybe binge watch like a tv show or something i don't know whatever no way after this if i know that she's waking up this early in the morning

00:16:12 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 4:

imagine going over to somebody's house for the first time and they said well we get up around 6 45 and we'll go get breakfast but you just get up when you want and you know internally you don't get up until 11 maybe noon you're not getting up at 11 or noon you're not letting everybody quietly tiptoe around their own house so that you can stay asleep that's so rude i wouldn't even be able to sleep then do you know how poorly i slept i was so worried the whole night that i was gonna be snoring that i was gonna get oversleep like crazy i was so stressed out i don't know how you

00:16:48 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 2:

could be up like stressed out about something like that that we put you in the basement room the same one that Mike slept in, and we put you in that room because it's, like, dungeness. You know what I mean? It's dark, and it's cold, and all that stuff.

00:17:02 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 1:

Perfect.

00:17:04 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what I feel like this morning. Yeah. Thought that you would get, like, the greatest sleep ever inside of that room, but she, like, didn't. And then the other one, too, you know what stressed me out about her? She goes, before she was going to bed, she said, can you log me into your Apple TV? Because she was going to start binge-watching the show, and all I kept thinking to myself was, she's going to like order movies and things like that. I thought she's going to spend up all, what is she going to do, stay up all night or something?

00:17:28 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 4:

You were such a jerk. You know what really happened? I said, I'll just buy my Apple subscription again and I'll log into my own. And you guys are both like, absolutely not. We're going to come in and log you in. You make me look like the bad guy here. And you guys were just too nice and too accommodating and I didn't want to be a bother. And that's what this really is.

00:17:50 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, you're staying overnight at the house. I know you have kids. You would have appreciated the fact that you could have slept in.

00:17:55 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 3:

I would have, but actually, I would like you to take my kids first. If you're feeling empty nester, I've got two little ones that would love to spend some time with Uncle Mojo and Aunt Chelsea.

00:18:03 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

No, because you know what? Then I have to actually watch them.

00:18:06 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 3:

You know what? If the TV's on, you don't. They're good.

00:18:10 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 2:

Uncle Mojo and Aunt Chelsea's sleepovers may be over with right now. Megan might have stopped that entire sleepover thing.

00:18:18 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 4:

I think the biggest question here is you've figured out three lies about me. Sure, whatever. What else am I hiding?

00:18:26 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 3:

Is that like a challenge to figure it out? I think so. Because now I'm invested.

00:18:31 - 00:18:32 | Unknown:

I think so.

00:18:32 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 4:

Am I really nice and compassionate and care about men?

00:18:35 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. That's the thing. That's what I kind of realized. Well, that or what is it called when you don't sleep? You have insomnia. Yeah. That's the other thing.

00:18:44 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings back in the day. Let's go. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:18:49 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 2:

All right, give you a chance to win some prizes. I'll give you a chance, by the way, too, to tell us what you learned sleeping over a little bit later this morning, too, Megan. This was the year, there's three clues here. This was the year that Fergie did the worst national anthem ever at the NBA All-Star Game. Do you remember this? And star-spangled banner yet wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave wave And the big song from Post Malone. What year was this? We'll set you up with the prize.

00:19:46 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 1:

Good luck. In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844 Mojo Live. To tell us, 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day.

00:20:07 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Tell us when this stuff happened. All of these clues actually bring back so many memories. The only problem is trying to figure out what year it was. This was the year that Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas performed the National Anthem halftime of the NBA All-Star Game and got some weird looks from the players. The best look was Joel Embiid from the Sixers. It was like, what in the world is this?

00:20:30 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 2:

Spangled Banner yet

00:20:35 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. Ari from The Bachelor changed his mind. Becca, will you marry me?

00:20:44 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Of course. But then he did the unthinkable.

00:20:49 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm just, uh, I've had a change of heart.

00:20:52 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 2:

You're making me really nervous right now.

00:20:55 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 4:

And the big song from Post Malone, what year was it? I think this is the song that, or the clue that kind of gave it away from me. But, Michael, what was the clue that gave it away for you? Fergie, and it was 2018. It was. Congratulations. Yeah. Do you remember the next day we had so much fun just playing that national anthem of Fergie? It's like, oh, boy. Yeah. We're going to set you up with a prize. Hang on the phone for just one second. We got tickets to AEW All Elite Wrestling happening at Little Suisse's Arena on May the 10th. Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

00:22:17 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, what have we got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:22:21 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, director James Gunn says this weekend's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will definitely be the last for the Guardians.

00:22:29 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 1:

It is. It's definitely the end. You will never see these Guardians together again. I mean, maybe out to lunch or we'll come over and play some Pinochle or something. I don't know how to play Pinochle, but something like that. Maybe we'll hang out like that, but it's definitely the last time you'll see them together on screen.

00:22:44 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 2:

And Star-Lord himself doing some interviews as well. Chris Pratt talking about being the very first actor to drop an F-bomb in a Marvel movie.

00:22:54 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm never trying to make history. I'm just trying to make people laugh. And usually the people I'm trying to make laugh are behind the monitor. And oftentimes, if you're going to drop an F-bomb, you know it's not going to make the cut. But you're just doing it to make people laugh, which is also an indication to let them know that you're probably done with the scene. Like, we've beat this thing to death, so I'm going to start dropping F-bombs. So you say, cut, let's move on. But guess what? They put it in the movie. Take that, Sam Jackson.

00:23:12 - 00:24:02 | Speaker 2:

What was the wait for? I mean, I guess technically it wasn't a Marvel movie, right? With Deadpool, he was just a Marvel character, but he's not the first. Yeah, I mean, that's his claim to fame. I don't know. ESPN is in some hot water for using old footage of New York City during the Knicks game against the Miami Heat yesterday afternoon. I don't know if you guys were watching. This was bad, yeah. Or if you heard about this, really, you had to be there, I guess. But during the broadcast of the Heat's win in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series at Madison Square Garden, ESPN showed some B-roll, as it's called, of the Statue of Liberty coming back from a promo during halftime. And at the bottom of the screen, fans were very quick to notice the World Trade Center, the Twin Towers, in the background. And obviously those buildings were destroyed during 9-11.

00:24:03 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 4:

How did they make a mistake like that?

00:24:04 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but that also means that the footage ESPN used, I mean, it's more than two decades old. They did apologize afterward. They wrote a little message on social media that said we mistakenly used an old stock image and we apologized.

00:24:19 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 4:

They got crap because last week they let a bunch of on-air talent go, but a bunch of technical people go too, including technical directors that were doing the NBA playoffs at that time because they were, you know, like everybody downsizing.

00:24:33 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you'd think there'd be like a huge note on that, you know, do not use, but I don't know. Jack Nicholson making a rare public appearance by attending the Lakers playoff game on Friday night. He was courtside, as it's the place where he usually sits. His son, Roy, was at the game with him. Several celebrities took the time to come over and say what's up to Jack, including LeBron and Larry David from Curb Your Enthusiasm. Did you see him?

00:24:56 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the picture of him? Yeah. Or the video of him?

00:24:58 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, you know, so he hasn't been...

00:25:00 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 4:

spotted at a Lakers game. And he's a Lakers super fan since 2021. And so there were a lot of stories that surfaced because of that with people saying, oh, his health must be declining. Or else he would be there sitting in his usual seat. Now, he didn't look the healthiest to me, but everybody said he seemed to be

00:25:18 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 1:

in good spirits. I want the pants that he was wearing because I got to be honest with you, those are the greatest pants I've ever seen in my life. They were like the baggiest pants. You can tell that Jack's been wearing a lot of sweatpants at home.

00:25:30 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 4:

He gives no Fs at this point.

00:25:31 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 1:

He was, like, looking for something to put on.

00:25:33 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:25:34 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

It's like, all right, well, maybe I'll put a jacket on or something like that.

00:25:37 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was not trying to make a fashion statement by any means. Tish Cyrus, she is Miley Cyrus' mom, announced her engagement over the weekend to prison break actor Dominic Purcell. She captioned a photo of the two of them a thousand times. Yes. The news of her engagement comes more than a year after she filed for divorce from Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, for another first, another second. But the third time, Billy Ray announced his own engagement last fall. He's now engaged to that Australian singer, Fire Rose. And lastly, this is a very interesting story. During the Los Angeles Philharmonic's performance of Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony on Friday at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the audience, all of a sudden, they're enjoying the show and they hear this scream, almost moan-like sound from the balcony. multiple people who were there reported hearing that noise that you just heard during the symphony second movement a witness explains i saw the girl after it happened and i assume that she had an orgasm because she was heavily breathing and her partner was smiling and looking at her And this woman was quoted as saying It was quite beautiful And there were other attendees that were there Who said oh very clearly This woman was listening To the orchestra And for whatever reason It caused her to have a loud And full body orgasm

00:27:14 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 1:

It does not There's no way

00:27:16 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 2:

They were doing something That by the way

00:27:22 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 1:

Would make everybody want to go and see the Philharmonic, right? Especially if you haven't had one in a long time. A public one would not be a good one. Hurry up, buy your tickets.

00:27:32 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 4:

00:27:45 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 4:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

00:27:49 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Getting ghosted sucks. Second date update is at 820. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:28:01 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning show. I was worried this weekend. I was worried about Lydia. So she told us that she was going to be going with some friends and they were going to go to New York for the weekend. And I don't know. I guess I hear these stories all the time about how New York is like crazy right now. A lot of people have talked about, you know, that there's a lot of crime going on there and stuff. Like, I guess if you're walking even around Times Square, they have, like, cops, like, warning you to make sure that you watch your valuables and stuff like that. Well, I was worried about you, and I'm happy that you're back. I saw that you had some fun shenanigans with the TikTok that was posted. You can go check it out on our TikTok and, of course, post it on Instagram and Facebook. Lydia, it was raining nonstop over the weekend So Lydia was trying to see if people in New York City The friendliest city in the world Would share their umbrella with her By randomly running up And just trying to get underneath the umbrella

00:29:06 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was going to see if they were going to notice And then turn around and either let me go Or they were going to tell me to get out of there

00:29:12 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 1:

And what did you end up finding out?

00:29:14 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 2:

I found out that there was a guy Who let me stay under his umbrella He offered it One guy One nice person in all of New York City You look in the video You can see there are people that I have gone under their umbrella And they turn around and they just give me a look Yeah

00:29:28 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 1:

So did you get any like verbal Like get the F out of here With a New York accent or what did you get

00:29:35 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 2:

Nope I didn't get any of those

00:29:36 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 1:

Really just looks That's actually not bad though That's actually pretty impressive

00:29:40 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 2:

Girlfriend you could have been hit I was thinking about that I was like oh god I feel like someone might actually swing with their umbrella on my forehead like you know just give me a bop right over the head now who did you go to new york city with i went with my best friend melanie and her sister okay um and to my surprise I witnessed a crime after we had talked about it with Megan on Friday. I witnessed my very own across the street from my hotel. So there was this Dunkin' Donuts and it was around like eight o'clock in the morning. I was feeling like I need to pick me up. So I walked across the street and I was standing in line for a little bit. And all of a sudden there's this guy who pushes me out of the way and he's running right up to the cashier. Now he looks at the cashier and he's like, give me all your tips. And he picks up her white tip jar right in front of the cash register and grabs his hand. He scoops his hand in there, grabs everything out, looks around, and books it. And my heart was in my ass. I didn't know what to do. Yeah. And I'm gripping on my own bag because I was like, what if he comes back in here? And the cashier was like, don't worry about it. He does this every week. Oh, my God. That's like a normal occurrence? Yeah. And I'm thinking to myself, why does no one stop this guy? Like, I wanted to be Superwoman. Like, I just wanted to put on my cape and run after her.

00:30:59 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no. You do that in Macomb Township. You don't do that in New York City.

00:31:06 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 3:

No, you don't even do that in Macomb. You don't do that anyway.

00:31:08 - 00:31:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no. I know. Not now. It was the hero in me. I just wanted to do that.

00:31:12 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 1:

By the way, wait, hold on a second. Hold on. Your heart was in your ass. I've never heard that before.

00:31:17 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 2:

We're all using it, though. We're all using it.

00:31:21 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:31:22 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 2:

That poor woman. I know. She was unfazed, though. She was, like, chilling, and me and my friends were shook.

00:31:28 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait, where does she keep her tips? Is it behind the counter? Because I would keep them behind the counter.

00:31:33 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 2:

She keeps them, like, right next to the cash register. But then people won't tip if they don't see it right there. You know what I mean? It's not top of mind.

00:31:39 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 1:

So if it happens every single week like that, please tell me that she's pulling tips out of there and just leaving, like, a dollar or two, so she's only giving the person near nothing, right? Yeah.

00:31:47 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 2:

He scooped a good chunk of change out of there. Really? Oh, yeah.

00:31:50 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. That's craziness. I know. It's wild, because, yeah, you're right. Megan did bring up on Friday that she witnessed a drug deal go on in Toledo when she was driving. And then everybody was calling up, telling us about the crime or whatever that they witnessed. And, I mean, nowadays, honestly, like, I feel like we're all oblivious to everything. I know. And sometimes we just, because we're all on our phones or all kind of like with our, you know, head in the clouds.

00:32:18 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 3:

And everybody's too scared to say anything.

00:32:22 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:32:22 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

You know, there are very few people that I feel like would do something to stop anybody because we're all so fearful that something's going to happen to us. You know, someone's going to pull out a gun or whatever.

00:32:34 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Please tell me, though, that people aren't trying to stop the thing from happening. Because honestly, you know, I love the story that came out. Remember at the Ulta in Brighton where they had a mass amount of, like, I think they were teen um what the hell is it uh what is it called where you go in and you yeah you do like a flash mob so there is a teen it was a teen flash mob into the alta where they went in there and just started ripping things off and it was customers and people in the parking lot that started attack tackling these people and that's how they got arrested and i thought that is the most amazing thing ever they need to give these people like commend commending you know for what they did No they need to give these people a lobotomy What the hell are you doing You've heard Lydia say that The heart was in the ass Your head's in your ass nowadays If you're willing to do that Because you could get killed

00:33:29 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 3:

What did everybody else in the Dunkin' Donuts do

00:33:31 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 2:

They didn't seem like they thought it was a problem at all And I feel like that's probably something that they see All the time in New York City On a regular basis at least But to me I don't see that ever So I was scared

00:33:43 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 1:

They're like Where is my large with one sugar and an extra cream Or something like that 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 If you are the hero Or as I say, hero

00:34:00 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm kind of mad that all of a sudden you're saying it right

00:34:02 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's because you made fun of me so much That I had to be very cautious of it

00:34:06 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 3:

I know, but now we do the text keyword for Taylor Swift I'm like, it's not even fun anymore

00:34:09 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 1:

I think our boss, Tony, actually made that a text keyword Because he realized it would help me It's kind of like a school teacher, you know, that tells you to keep on saying it over and over again.

00:34:19 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 3:

Practice makes perfect. Yeah, I agree.

00:34:22 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god, so wait Was it a complete stranger that was getting kidnapped? Or carjacked? Or did you know the person?

00:39:52 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 2:

No, I had no idea who she was It was the first time I actually went to Grey Lakes Crossing And I just got out of the car And I saw it happen And I kind of just like Thank you.

00:40:00 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 3:

jumped into action and without even thinking and then like maybe 10 minutes later the detective comes up to me so did you see the gun no i didn't and in saying that to you was he saying you shouldn't have done what you did no no no it's just more like jeez like i can't believe it

00:40:40 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 1:

00:40:57 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 3:

no let me rephrase that now probably not as much just because i do have a i have my son now so it's like i don't want to risk him losing his mom but i would still do do it again just because putting somebody else's life is more you know i mean just trying to like help out as much as i

00:41:16 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 1:

can that's more important to me i guess listen i'm gonna i'm gonna say this to you you are brave but i would tell you that a majority of the police and stuff would say to not do it to not do what

00:41:35 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 1:

the call angela what's happening hi hi angela you actually put your nose into uh somebody's business that was trying to do some bad stuff yeah i did it was actually at great lakes crossing as

00:41:50 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 4:

well so like we're in the food court and i was shopping for my daughter's birthday and i regret a bite to eat and we were sitting down and I noticed that these two people were sitting back to back, you know, two different races. It didn't seem like they know each other. And then one was a lady with big, beautiful, curly hair. And this guy was just scooting his chair closer and closer. And it was just out of the corner of my eye. And I noticed it. And he was like touching her hair and like smelling her hair and stuff. And then I didn't say anything to my husband until I didn't see him slide his shoe off. And then he slid his foot under the chair and was rubbing his foot with her foot and i told my husband and he was like no no no they're together they got to be together i was like no i was like they're not together i was like look how they're sitting i was like they're not together something just ain't right so the girl gets up after him touching her again she like noticed it finally and then she got up and left and then he got up and followed her so i was like oh no no no no i was like this ain't happening in front of me like this ain't happening in front of me so i got up i went and got the girl the guy sits down at a table sees me talking to her and And she's like, no, no, no. I don't know who he is. I'm like, get off the phone. I was like, whoever you on the phone with, hang up the phone and walk with me. You need to come with me right now. So she hangs up the phone. I'm like, did you know that guy that was sitting behind you? She's like, no, I didn't know him. I was like, you didn't feel him touching your hair and rubbing his leg with his foot?

00:43:06 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 1:

And she said she didn't feel it or notice it? Or she was just scared?

00:43:12 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she, like, freaked out. We both freaked out. My husband was like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I'll never not believe you again. And we went and got the security guard. And listen to this. This is even crazier. They didn't call me for like three days. So I finally decided to call back and check up on the girl. Because I'm like, dude, like, tell me what happened. She's okay, right? So the security guard was like, oh, my God, I'm so glad you called. I lost your number. I'm so sorry. He's like, I just wanted to thank you. He's like, we went back and looked on the cameras all day. And not only did he do it to her, he did it to nine other girls. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

00:43:41 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 1:

You know, I will say this to you that, first off, you're amazing. And I know that I'm going to contradict myself. But in that case, what you did, I think, was even safer than with the other people because, well, it was risky, but it was safe because you got her up in a public place and walked away with her. You weren't confronting the man. Well, and instead of.

00:44:00 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I was going to. I was going to. My husband said, don't you do it. He said, don't, don't take him down because, you know, I'm a big girl. I'm not a big girl, but I'm pretty tough. You know, it was just like something wasn't right. It was like really late. It's just like the corner. See something, say something, do something. You know what I mean?

00:44:14 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

Listen, that's the big thing. I don't want to discourage anybody from doing that. See something, say something. You've got to say something if you see it. But be careful of jumping into somebody's car or doing that. Oh, yeah, of course. Definitely. You should see, man, our messages right now are people saying people need to step up a little bit. If somebody knew that somebody was going to step up and stop them, then they wouldn't go and do this. Thank you for the call. One last one. Dana? Yes. Hey, Dana. What's going on? Good morning. Good morning.

00:44:45 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

So I was at the Bertrand Mall one time, and this guy, I was kind of by the door waiting for my husband to be done looking at what he was looking at, and a guy opened the door and grabbed a box of, like, the whole pots and pans set by the door, and so I held the door open for him. him thinking he had already purchased and just pulled his truck up to get it and then another guy jumped out of the truck and they start grabbing like as many as they could and i was like wait a second they're stealing and i said it to the lady and she's like yeah i can't do anything about it and i'm like i just held the door open for them to steal so i ran outside and like chased their truck for a minute to get their license plate number my husband was like what in the world

00:45:24 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 4:

are you thinking yeah that is true when you work in retail i worked in retail for a really long time, they tell you, you cannot stop the shoplifter. You have to call mall security

00:45:33 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 1:

and they have to do it. Were they able to ever catch the person by giving the driver's license a plate number?

00:45:39 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I did end up getting the plate number, but I just don't have that concept of that fear in me. This happens all the time and people are like, what were you thinking? It didn't even cross my mind in that second that it could be dangerous.

00:45:53 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Were you pissed that they got those pots for free?

00:45:56 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 2:

I was pissed that I held the door open. Yeah, like you were helping them. What's going on?

00:46:01 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 1:

You were making it easy for them. At least give me a saucepan for guys saying out of the whole deal. Mojo in the Morning Show, you know we pay bills. Giving you a chance to win $1,000. It happens this morning, kicks off with us at 910. 13 times a day you get your bills paid. Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Mike, KP, Lydia, the rest of the guys here. It's good to have you guys. Phone number, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. How was your weekend? Did you have a good weekend, Shannon?

00:46:37 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 4:

I did. I kind of randomly had a busy weekend. I had a charity event, a fundraiser for Lucy School. We had some sports. Went bowling to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday.

00:46:54 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 1:

Very cool.

00:46:55 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just like random stuff.

00:46:56 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 1:

So, Shannon says that it's the thing that annoys her about Wes, her fiance. What annoys you about him?

00:47:05 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I'm hoping I'm not the only one that there's like one little tiny, very petty thing that annoys you about your partner. And with Wes, he does this thing where he'll call me. And if I miss the call, if I don't answer the call for whatever reason, I'm doing something else. He will immediately follow it up With a text message that said Tried calling Every single time I know It says missed call

00:47:34 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

He calls you

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 4:

I missed the call

00:47:37 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 1:

You don't answer the call And then he does what

00:47:39 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 4:

He literally follows it up with a text that says Tried calling

00:47:42 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't say missed call It reminds me of an 80 year old person Who doesn't know how voicemail works Or doesn't know how anything Like, you're too grown to not know. But wait. I don't know why this makes me so nutty.

00:47:55 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever gotten on him before about not returning a phone call or not calling him back?

00:48:01 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so to be fair, and I hate you, I hate you, sometimes if I'm napping and I put my phone in do not disturb mode or whatever, I don't see that I have the missed call unless he leaves me a message, and so then I don't know that he called. Dickhead.

00:48:17 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So, but still. that that was the thing out. Because I'm thinking to myself.

00:48:22 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 4:

But he knows when that happens because it'll go right to voicemail. Do you see what I mean? If it's in do not disturb, it goes right to voicemail.

00:48:28 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

Megan, the reason why I'm saying this is because I have been where Wes has been and I've had that happen to me before where Chelsea will say to me, I'll say to Chelsea, I'll call you back in a few minutes. And Chelsea's biggest pet peeve is my few minutes might be few hours. And she hates when I do that. So I'm really, really bad about returning the phone call. Is Wes bad at that, too, or are you bad at that?

00:48:51 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 4:

No, no. I would be worse than him at that. He's very good.

00:48:56 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

If he says he's going to return the phone call, he will. So then I'll call her back, and she won't answer, and I always will then send a text message to her to doubly make her aware of this, because I have had this happen to me before with my wife. I've had it happen where she says, you didn't call me back, and I have to go back in my phone you know where i'm talking about into the recents or the call log to show that i actually

00:49:22 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 4:

sent her or yes or uh screenshot it and send it yes we have the same issue but this just really gets on my nerves yes listen i'm trying calling i i can see it i'm gonna tell you that west guy's

00:49:37 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

just covering his ass west you're smart for doing that okay what what is the thing that annoys the crap out of you about your partner 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 my annoying thing i'll talk about after i grab a couple of calls because megan witnessed it and megan actually said that i am very annoying at this and i'll explain because she was with her this weekend i can't even narrow

00:49:58 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

it down to what i'm like no

00:50:00 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 1:

no you know what it was all i can say is this celery um kayla are you there hello what annoys

00:50:08 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 4:

you kayla about first of all i mean what doesn't annoy me about my spouse right so shannon yeah shannon said is there is there one little thing that annoys about your spouse and i'm saying And only one.

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Unknown:

I mean, how do you do that?

00:50:28 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, if you had to pick one, Kayla, what is the one thing that just drives you absolutely bat spit crazy?

00:50:38 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gosh. I don't even know. So when he tells me that he's on his way home, and I'm like, well, where are you? And he just says, in the car. I know you're in the car.

00:50:58 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 1:

See, I'm glad you came up with one, because I was going to say, he's not that annoying. He's actually not that bad. You're just throwing him under the bus for no particular reason.

00:51:09 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 2:

She's just sorting through all the options in her head.

00:51:11 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 1:

Does he ever do this with the not telling you where? Does he ever not tell you where because he knows you're going to bust him for the fact that he didn't leave when he said he was supposed to leave?

00:51:22 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 4:

No, he just likes to push my buttons.

00:51:25 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But you still love him, right?

00:51:27 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 4:

I do. I've been with him a very long time. Oh, that's nice.

00:51:32 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 1:

Kylie, what's going on?

00:51:34 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Hi. My dad used to call me all the time And he would leave a voicemail And he would say Hey Kai, it's your dad Every time Just like Shannon was saying He would say Hey, it's your dad Hey, it's your dad I know it I see it in the voicemail And the missed call

00:51:53 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny? I leave messages all the time From friends and stuff And I'll go Hey, it's Mojo Just calling you up And people say that same thing to me I, for some reason, feel like I need to Do you ever do that?

00:52:05 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 3:

I think I do. Yeah.

00:52:07 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 1:

Hi, this is. And then I give the phone number four times to like family members. Give me a call back at 248.

00:52:15 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 2:

Do you think it was people who grew up like before caller ID versus people who grew up afterwards? And you just do it out of habit. Nowadays, I see kids when they go pretend to take a photo. And instead of holding up a camera and pushing the button, they just hold up one hand for a selfie. And I'm like, what are you doing?

00:52:30 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 1:

Claire, what annoys you about your partner?

00:52:32 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 4:

my husband is so anal about which way the toilet paper goes on the holder he actually took me in the bathroom one day and corrected me and i laughed so hard i almost peed my pants wait like it's got to go over yeah over over and it has to it has to go over i just remember um bangs are good mullets are bad and that's how i remember how to put the toilet paper on wait say that again bangs are good mullets are bad oh my god that's so funny awesome by the way um i love that he gave

00:53:05 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 1:

you a lesson like he took you in there is is that a little bit kind of like uh i don't know a little uh bad like as a spouse because what do you mean well like when you're going into the bathroom and you're like let me give you a lesson it's almost kind of like some people might Some therapist might say Or might have told me That that was not a good thing to do Like I've been told that before Megan what's going on? Not you Megan

00:53:33 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 4:

Hi guys Hi Megan Hi long time caller It's actually really funny Because all my friends give me a hard time Because I can always call in to you guys And they can't So they're like what do you do? But I called because my fiance Never closes the shower curtain After a shower

00:53:54 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 2:

Never.

00:53:55 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 4:

And it drives me bonkers.

00:53:56 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Megan, if you close the shower curtain, the murderers get in there and they get you while you're going to the bathroom.

00:54:02 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 4:

I can get rid of the murderer. I'm worried about the germs and the mold. And he fought to have the shower curtain on because he's a big nerd and it's Zelda. And he really, really wanted it. But he never has it open to look at the image. So what's the point?

00:54:19 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Leanna, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:54:23 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hey, guys. Good morning. All right, have a look. So let's start off with, like, any time my husband tells a story, he leaves out every single detail in the book. He'll say, oh, yeah, I told my brother we had a baby, you know, and we would leave it at that silence. I'm like, okay, and what did he say? Oh, yeah, he thought it was cool. Okay, and I'm like, oh, I'm like, come on. And then the way he brushes his hair, he doesn't brush through his hair. He scrubs his head with the brush. I'm like, that's not brushing your hair. wait what what do you mean he like takes his brush

00:55:00 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 1:

and his scalp, he just scrubs his scalp with a brush and that's brushing his hair. That's weird. And then when he blows his nose, he uses one Kleenex for the whole day. I'm like, we're not that poor. We can use more than one.

00:55:13 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 3:

My grandma used to do that and slip the Kleenex up her sleeve. I was going to say,

00:55:17 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 4:

how old is he?

00:55:21 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

He's 42.

00:55:22 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 4:

He's 42. That's like an 80-year-old thing to do. It really is. That's like a I lived through the Depression thing to do. Erica, what's up?

00:55:31 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up? What's going on?

00:55:33 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 4:

Nothing much. What's going on? We're basically talking about the people that we supposedly love, but we really don't.

00:55:39 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love my husband dearly, but I will text him a question, and instead of just answering me back, he calls me to explain what the answer is. I don't need you to call me back. I text you for a reason. Text me back.

00:55:55 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 4:

But don't you understand, though, that he just wants to hear your voice, that it's so beautiful and he wants to hear it?

00:56:01 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Maybe. But I text you because I'm busy. You can hear my voice when you come home.

00:56:07 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 3:

Does he ever send you back an audio message that you would then have to listen to in public?

00:56:11 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 1:

No. My husband wouldn't know how to do that. Oh, okay.

00:56:14 - 00:56:14 | Unknown:

All right.

00:56:15 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he wouldn't know how to send an audio message. Yeah, he's not text savvy, let's say.

00:56:20 - 00:56:37 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I was reading that that is now the thing that every, what did they say, Gen Zer or whatever wants to do, that that's no longer texting. Gen Zers think voice notes are more personal than text. So they do voice notes. I hate voice notes.

00:56:37 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 3:

I hate voice notes, too. We can't listen to that. Like, if somebody does that to me while we're on the air, we can't sit here and listen to those. So I'm not going to be able to respond to you.

00:56:45 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 2:

I love them. Do you? Until I see somebody says, or it says, like, kept by the other person. Oh, yeah. And then when I see you keep them, I go, why did you keep that? Don't keep that.

00:56:55 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 4:

Or people will send a voice note, and it goes away after.

00:56:58 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 3:

It's a minute 50 seconds long.

00:57:00 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's true. That's not a voice note. That's, like, a full-on message. They might as well just leave you a message. But then it will go away, though, sometimes. Like, it will go away, like, really fast if you don't, like, fully hear it and go, oh, listen to it later, and it will say expiring in so long. Yeah. So my experience with Megan this weekend, so we hung out on Saturday night. We went and ate dinner, and then we got drinks, and then she spent the night at our house with Chelsea and I, my wife, and Megan piled on about how horrible of an eater I am, saying when Chelsea was coming down on me over the fact that she says that I chomp too loud, that Megan was like, oh my God, I wanted to just kill him with the chomping thing. And it drove me crazy that I thought that I had somebody that had my back.

00:57:48 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 2:

First of all, what if I ever had your back?

00:57:51 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 4:

I always thought that you were the type of person that kind of had my back from time to time. Because realistically, remember this, you and I are virtually the same person, one with a penis and the other one without.

00:58:04 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 2:

I hate when you bring that up because, first of all, accurate. We are exactly the same person. But I don't need the reminder. But second of all, I will support you and have your back on anything important. I would hide a body for you. But if it comes to agreeing with you about being right on something, absolutely not. I would never. Thanks for having Mojo's back there, Megan. You're the best.

00:58:26 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly. Hold on. I don't know if Chelsea's going to answer. She may be in the shower.

00:58:31 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 3:

By the way, what's Luke doing today on his first day with no school in however many years?

00:58:36 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

He has to go back on his first day with no school and take a, oh, that's, wait, that doesn't sound like my wife. He has to go back and take a test. So he has to go back, because there was something that he had to make up, so he had to go back and do a test, but yet was out till 11 o'clock last night doing water wars, which I got to talk about that, too. The water wars thing got kind of crazy.

00:59:02 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm not even involved in water wars, nor have I ever been. Our school didn't do that. It gives me so much anxiety to watch these kids do this.

00:59:09 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, the water wars, crazy. I got a big thing I want to talk about in the 8 o'clock hour with water wars. Chelsea.

00:59:14 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 1:

Yes?

00:59:15 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 4:

Megan is never invited over to our house ever again. Yes, she is. I've made this decision, and the reason why is she agreed with you on the fact that I am the worst to eat out with.

00:59:27 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 3:

Definitely have celery, yeah, and you're hungry.

00:59:30 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It is the worst. I think I heard every fiber of that celery being crushed from across the table. Yeah, I was afraid you're going to eat your fingers. It was pretty aggressive.

00:59:43 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 4:

I was very hungry.

00:59:44 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so wait, you satisfy your hunger with a piece of celery?

00:59:47 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 4:

No, because it was one of those things where we had ordered appetizers, so we ordered wings.

00:59:51 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's when you had all the wings.

00:59:52 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't eat any of the wings because they were right by you guys, and you guys were across the table, so all I had was the vegetables. But long story short.

01:00:00 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 3:

Long story short, I was so hungry and I was really trying to, you know, to deal with this because I didn't eat all day. Okay. And so I was eating celery. And then Chelsea and Megan, just like the next day, it was Sunday. Do you understand how loud you chew and like you chew with your mouth open? And then Chelsea says, when you go out with clients, do clients ever have to like duck from the food that's coming out of your mouth? And it was awful. Which, by the way, I did go out.

01:00:28 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 5:

But you do share via the spray of the food from your house.

01:00:32 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 3:

And I went out with a client on Friday. I actually went out with Dr. Reynolds on Friday. And I actually said to him, listen, if I'm really bad, I have to like forewarn people ahead of time because Chelsea has talked about this so much on the air. Real quick, I want you to know something. After I take this call, Megan's about to say something about staying at our house that I think that is going to get her in trouble. But Taylor, are you there?

01:00:57 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm here.

01:00:58 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 3:

Taylor, what's going on?

01:01:00 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Just the chomping of the veggie straws from four rooms away. I can't stand.

01:01:06 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 3:

So your guy also does that? Your partner also does that?

01:01:09 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 4:

Yep, I can hear him when I'm in the room and he's in the kitchen. I can hear him chomping on those veggie straws or even lettuce gets crunchy, and I just can't stand it.

01:01:18 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Really? Chelsea, what's the food besides the celery that I was eating the other day that you cannot stand that I eat?

01:01:24 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 4:

i think it's just celery it is yeah i've got one what your apple eating is oh yeah insane well we don't have apples in the house anymore he's not allowed to have them here

01:01:42 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 3:

yeah she gets rid of everything taylor do you ever get rid of the food that your partner eats like a

01:01:48 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 5:

a horse i'll try or at least leave the room it's that bad wait chels you seriously don't buy him anymore because the chomping so bad we do not have them in our house anymore you know what

01:01:59 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

she's bought applesauce like i'm like an old person i'm like a senior citizen with my bowl of applesauce that i get to eat um all right so taylor i want you to stick around because in a second here megan stayed at our house this weekend and what megan was doing in our house that chelsea and I did not realize until we looked at the ring cameras.

01:02:22 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 4:

I knew it!

01:02:25 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Coming up here in just a second, okay? Chelsea, I will talk to you later. Have a great morning. How's your first morning of having no kid in school?

01:02:34 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

It's glorious. Glorious, glorious. Are you as depressed as I am? I'm very depressed, but I don't want to talk about that.

01:02:42 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 3:

Will you cry on the radio for us? No.

01:02:44 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

01:02:46 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 3:

You have no kids at home anymore.

01:02:48 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 4:

I still have you.

01:02:52 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:02:55 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:02:57 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, May 6th is the big day, the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

01:03:07 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 2:

More than 1 million people are expected to line the streets of London, but only 2,000 special guests will be inside Westminster Abbey Saturday for the event. Prince Harry will be there, but his attendance will be brief.

01:03:20 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 1:

Maybe even just 24 hours in the UK as he flies in, attends that coronation ceremony, skips everything else afterwards and gets on a plane straight back to LA.

01:03:30 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Preparations well underway for the big day with more than 7,000 military personnel participating in dress rehearsals over the weekend. And with so many people coming to town, businesses are taking advantage, rolling out themed merchandise and experiences. But amid the excitement, controversy, and an unprecedented move, during the coronation, the Archbishop will ask the public tuning in to vocally pledge allegiance to King Charles and his successors. Critics call the oath offensive and tone-deaf, pointing out that it asks people to swear allegiance to Prince Andrew, who, despite being stripped of his royal titles, is still technically a successor. The cost of the coronation also raising eyebrows. It just doesn't seem quite right. Reportedly costing taxpayers $125 million as the public faces a higher cost of living with historic inflation.

01:04:22 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

So let's talk about what was mentioned about Prince Harry specifically in that clip because truly from everybody that I'm talking to about this, he is going to be in and out. He is intending to fly back to California within two hours of the ceremony's end, getting straight back to his home for Archie's fourth birthday, which coincides with Saturday's coronation. We've been talking about this. The ceremony to formally crown the king is set to start at 11 a.m. It will last for around two hours, and then he's out. By the way, the historic ceremony will be the first time that Harry will be photographed.

01:05:00 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 2:

with the Windsors since the funeral of the late queen and the first time since slamming the royal family in his memoirs. Charles Coronation concert set to include pre-taped segments from the likes of Tom Cruise, Tom Jones, and Winnie the Pooh, randomly. Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, again, set to headline the celebration.

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 1:

It's like the worst entertainment ever.

01:05:22 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, which will also include performances by Steve Winwood, Take That, Andrea Brocelli, and Nicole Serzinger. that concert going to take place the following day on the grounds of Windsor Castle. The Pussycat Dolley Singer? Yeah.

01:05:34 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 1:

You know what's amazing about this whole thing? They say, you know, I used to get up and say all these, like, royal weddings and all these things they would do for the queen. What a waste of money this is. But it brings in billions upon billions of dollars. So $125 million it costs, but it brings in billions and billions of dollars because of all the tourism that goes on.

01:05:53 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 3:

But the problem is their economy right now doesn't support, like, the people of England are struggling. They're struggling. So I think there's a difference of there's a celebration. It does create some sort of national pride that is, you know, true. But I think that's also dying out with the older generation. And usually they're not doing so poorly as a nation. So there's a lot more to it than this. And Charles is not liked by the public and hasn't been for a really long time. I think it would be different if we were talking about William right now. Because I do think his approval rating is still so high. So much higher. But Charles doesn't have that.

01:06:28 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 1:

I saw that only like 3% of people want to call her queen, want Camilla to be called queen because they just do not like the idea of her being the queen.

01:06:39 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 3:

And look at Spencer. Oh, shoot. What's her first name? Oh, she just had the full wedding done by Dolce & Gabbana, but it's Princess Diana's niece.

01:06:51 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 2:

And right now, she's more popular than most of the royal family. Yeah, yeah. I mean, we'll be talking about this all week, so we'll keep you updated. This just might affect all of your favorite TV shows and even some upcoming movies that are supposed to be released. Another huge story right now. The Writers Guild of America is about to strike. It could happen, and if it does, it would start, I believe, at midnight tonight, Pacific time, when the current WGA contract with the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers expires. So let me explain what this is all about. On one side are the Hollywood studios and the networks and the streamers and the hundreds of other motion picture and TV producers who which make or distribute most of the content. OK, they're represented in these talks by the Association of Motion Picture and TV Producers. On the other side is the Writers Guild of America, which represents all of the writers in Hollywood who are members. And the issue here is that many Writers Guild members who previously made a really good living doing what they do are finding it much harder to do so these days. Writers are finding their work devalued in every part of the business. These companies are focusing more so on streaming rights and content than they are on paying their writers a good solid wage. Plus the threat of AI. I heard about that. And how it could be used to generate scripts is looming. So, the writers are looking for increased compensation. The Guild also wants to establish some sort of policy, some sort of rulebook on AI and authorship, especially if a writer's ideas are used as the basis for AI-generated work. So, lots of stuff to be figured out before this deadline, or else you might see a lot of the late-night shows will be affected. Daytime TV, not really affected, but definitely some movies. this could cause some pre- and post-production lag.

01:08:41 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 1:

They say the fall season of television would be awful because it puts a stop to that because everything's being filmed for that.

01:08:48 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, some of the movies coming down the pipeline, it becomes a very gray, muddy area for them as well.

01:08:53 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Remember the last time that there was a strike? It was a long strike, so it caused us to be bored.

01:09:00 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm happy for them for advocating for themselves, but selfishly, television was so bad. Yeah, and lots of reruns. Which also proved their worth because we all remember the last time it happened being like, oh, it was bad for a while.

01:09:13 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 2:

James Gordon said he isn't really sure how the rumor got started that his final Late Late Show last Thursday evening would feature a surprise reunion with all of the One Direction guys.

01:09:24 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 4:

I think what happened was when the Jonas Brothers reformed, they reformed on our show, and it was a surprise. And there was a sketch, which was me kidnapping the Jonas Brothers. The whole Late Late Show Twitter and social media feed is just full of people saying kidnap One Direction.

01:09:41 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 2:

And he also said, by the way, he wouldn't want there to be a One Direction reunion on his show anyway.

01:09:47 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm a huge fan, personally and professionally, of that whole band. And I actually think when the day comes for them to reform, it shouldn't be in a four or five minute segment on a late night.

01:10:00 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 1:

talk show. It has no ratings. It's an hour long doc followed by a tour followed by an album. Everybody would be like... We knew that we had to be very, very quick. They got back together. Nobody knew about it. The show's got no ratings. And lastly,

01:10:14 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Uber has released its annual list of items left in vehicles by Riders Strange Items. Uber said the top 10 most forgotten items were clothing, phones, backpacks, purses, headphones, jewelry, keys, books, laptops, and watches. Okay. Jacksonville, Florida, ranked as the most forgetful city but some of the stranger items left behind include a toy poodle that's the kind of dog i have a fog machine an ankle monitor 16 ounces of fake blood a printer a remote control vibrator and a pin of jesus holding a slice of pizza also making the top 50 list a lightsaber hamsters a power of attorney document a slab of blue fin tuna and fake teeth um passengers did leave a few private items behind, like underwear, condoms, and sex toys. The number one lost gaming device left in Ubers was the Nintendo Switch this past year, with over 70 consoles left

01:11:10 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 1:

behind. The thing I would like to put in the lost and found on this is Uber in itself, because you can't find an Uber these days

01:11:16 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 2:

it seems like anywhere. I agree with you. There's like

01:11:18 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 1:

no Ubers these days in our listening area.

01:11:20 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 2:

Get more dirt at Mojo in the Morn on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:11:31 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. So, talked when we signed on the show. You can go back and listen to it on our podcast about how Megan hung out with her. She was hanging out up here in Detroit. And then she spent the night at my house. I said this in a tease that I looked back at ring cameras in my house to see what Megan was doing. And I'm just joking. I do not have ring cameras in the house.

01:11:56 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 2:

I would not be hanging out at your house anymore. No, I'm just kidding.

01:12:00 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 3:

I will admit to one thing I did in your living room. You left me alone for one second, and you have this candle that I was very interested in. So I definitely was, I wrote it down in my notes app. I was like, this is a good candle. Oh, what is it? Now we all want to know.

01:12:14 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know.

01:12:14 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 3:

What is it? I'll just send it to you. I don't know. It was actually, I saw, I recognized it as the same brand that Ellen has. And I was like, this company must be great. I need to look them up.

01:12:23 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you what it was like, by the way, to leave Megan. So, Shannon, she comes over at, like, 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

01:12:29 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:12:30 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 1:

And then she hangs out for, you know, an hour and a half or so or whatever, and then we're going to go out, and we're going to go to dinner, and then we're going to go out for drinks. Okay. And I say this not because of I don't trust Megan, but I don't trust Megan.

01:12:44 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Fair.

01:12:46 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea leaves, gets up from the couch and says, I'm going to go and, you know, get dressed and then we'll go out. And I'm like, oh, I got to change my clothes, too. I wanted to get dressed because I was just wearing a sweatshirt and stuff, but I didn't want to leave Megan alone in my kitchen and great room area. What was your worst fear? Honestly, I feel more comfortable leaving my Xfinity cable guy coming to fix stuff in my house or a service person come in, like if we've had to call somebody for our water softener. I feel more comfortable leaving them alone in my house than Megan from the show.

01:13:20 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 3:

But why? Obviously, I think that's the right decision.

01:13:23 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Because all you guys do, and I don't feel comfortable leaving you alone. What did I do? Because any time that we've ever done anything at any of our homes, we've all gone into, like I have in your house, in our private stuff. Yes. And you guys open up drawers and start taking pictures, and the next thing you know, I end up following you on social media and see this stuff. You guys got in my bed. I don't like that. I don't like that either. I don't like the return of this, like the payback, so to speak. I don't like the payback makes me feel a little uncomfortable so I felt weird so I started talking to her for a while and then finally when I realized I'm not gonna have time to go get dressed because Chelsea's taking forever to get dressed and put you know her makeup on and all the rest of stuff so I had to leave Megan for a little bit and that's when she you know looked

01:14:10 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

at a candle which is why you shouldn't have left me alone because I did start snooping but here's the thing i knew you knew i would snoop because the one thing i've done is announced over and over and over again i am a snooper i don't care if you don't like that about me i love it about me because i love finding out secrets and i started uh going through drawers you know what's so disappointing nothing i found nothing but cleaning supplies i found nothing but normal stuff not one juicy bit of item and i know mojo was worried about me walking around and taking photos of his house and i will admit i did take a photo i haven't told you about oh really i did of what my bed so that i knew how to remake it in the morning because everything was set up so

01:15:00 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 5:

Nicely for me to stay over. You guys were so nice. I felt like I was staying in a hotel. It was so nice. And I thought, they're never going to let me come back over if I leave this house wreck. So I was taking pictures to reset up the house nicely.

01:15:15 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 2:

So you took pictures of the bed just to know how to redo it?

01:15:20 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 4:

So it wasn't just the bed.

01:15:20 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 2:

Mike actually had to remake the bed when he stayed at the house like a week ago.

01:15:24 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 4:

But doesn't it just get unmade again? Because does Chelsea wash everything after somebody stays?

01:15:29 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 2:

She's very, yeah.

01:15:31 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 4:

I always tell people, please do not make the bed because I'm just going to unmake it and throw everything in the washer.

01:15:35 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 5:

I know, but look at what I, I'm going to send this to the group chat, right? So this came in. I specifically took a picture of the blanket so that I could try to refold it in the morning. And I hate to break it to you, but I did not have the skill set to refold this blanket. And I tried about 17 times and got so frustrated.

01:15:53 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 4:

I was like, I can't do it. I just can't do it. With the picture you sent us, did you do that or was that how it was?

01:15:58 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 5:

That's how it was I could not recreate that simple Blanket folding

01:16:03 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 2:

That crisscross You're not somebody that has ever worked at Like a gap because you don't know how to fold

01:16:09 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely not

01:16:10 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 2:

The funny thing about Chelsea with these beds Is that she and I think Shannon you might be the same way too I think you and Chelsea are similar with this She has more pillows That are useless pillows That go on any beds Even the boys have them as decorative pillows And then the boys honestly ruin them Because they don't want them anymore Because they don't want to have to deal with them When they have to make their bed Or somebody's coming over

01:16:35 - 01:16:36 | Speaker 4:

I have 12 on my bed right now

01:16:36 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 2:

So the kids just ruin them You have 12 pillows on your bed

01:16:40 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 5:

I have four pillows on my bed But they're all normal pillows that are makeup stands That's what you should expect When you come to my house

01:16:48 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Are there listeners that do this When they go stay at someone's house Like if they're a guest at someone's house Do they take a picture of the bed To remake the bed

01:16:57 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 4:

I love that you did that

01:16:59 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 2:

And then side note on this one Who has the most pillows on a bed Because I think that The more pillows you have on a bed The more psychotic you are

01:17:08 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh for sure I should probably have more

01:17:10 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Maybe there's some in the closet

01:17:13 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 4:

Twelve isn't enough

01:17:15 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 2:

Hold on if that's the case I'm actually not doing so bad 844 Mojo Live 844-665-654-8 Or text 95500 Zero. It's funny because after hearing Megan talk earlier this morning how she didn't sleep because she was so worried about, you know, oversleeping and like us wondering, what the hell is she? Is she like I did say to Chelsea, I go, I bet you that Megan sleeps till one and we're going to have to go in the room and wake her up because we're going to be like starving. Only to have her wake up at seven o'clock in the morning, knowing she was probably in the bedroom at six o'clock in the morning to seven o'clock in the morning trying to figure out how to make it. Do you make your bed?

01:17:53 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 5:

Me?

01:17:54 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:17:55 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 5:

Okay, can I be real honest about my bed?

01:17:57 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:17:58 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 5:

So I am very lucky. The one luxurious thing I have is like a giant bed, right? I'm single. I shouldn't have a giant bed, but I had a treat yourself moment, okay? And I went bougie with it. So my bed is so big right now that I have the space where I sleep. And then the space where you're supposed to have your loved one is just full of clean folded laundry that I refuse to put away. Oh, no. So, no, I don't have my bed made because it's too cluttered with things I'm too lazy to put away.

01:18:28 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 4:

Do you make your bed every single day? Well, I guess Chels makes it every single day because she's the last one to get out of it.

01:18:32 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

If Chelsea is out of town or if I'm the last to leave the bed, I just fold the sheets over.

01:18:37 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 4:

Really? Oh, I have to have my bed.

01:18:38 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 2:

Like a crime scene thing. Yeah, Chelsea likes it. Chelsea will, if the bed's not made and we're about to go to bed, she'll make the bed for us to go to bed. Yeah. I'm like, that just seems very odd. What's up, Lisa?

01:18:50 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I also, a long time ago, like an old ex, when I would stay at his house where he lived with his parents, his mom would make up the bed all nice and wonderful. So I used to also take a photo so that I would remember and try to be respectful and put it back the way that it was, to which the next morning I actually got yelled at and accused of not actually sleeping in the bed. Oh, that's impressive, though. Were you proud of yourself? i i was for like 0.2 seconds until i was actually realized getting yelled at you know what they were

01:19:23 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 2:

thinking they thought that you snuck into your boyfriend's bedroom and were fooling around at

01:19:27 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 3:

night right correct they thought that i like sneaked out and never actually stayed in the bed and like was downstairs with him the whole time yeah that's it they show them the picture of the bed you're like no no i just prepared yes yes i did actually i was like i swear to god i took a picture to put it back the way that you had it because it was so nice that's funny uh

01:19:48 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

cassie what's up not much how are you guys we're good megan spent the night at our house this weekend and somebody just texted in and said this is the reason why nobody wants to spend the night at your house because you complained

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 1:

next day after about it but uh what's going on she took a picture of the bed to know how to make

01:20:04 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 2:

it yeah so i used to dog sit for my friend all the time and when they would go out of town i would stay at their house but their house was like perfect and i'm not a perfect person so i would sleep on the floor so i didn't have to remake no oh cassie does that not sound like

01:20:24 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 1:

something Megan would do, too?

01:20:27 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 3:

It was so complicated. There's so many blankets. I was like, I just sleep on the floor. Like, it's fine. I'm good.

01:20:32 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 1:

That is so cute. What's up? Yeah.

01:20:35 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, Megan, people are texting and asking if you were like, Mike, did you sleep naked? Absolutely not, Mojo's house. Absolutely not. That is so weird. And now I have a new- Didn't Mike admit that last night? Mike admitted it.

01:20:48 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And Chelsea, tell everybody what Chelsea did with you before you went into that bed to make sure that she did change those sheets oh she went in and she ripped everything apart and she smelled it all right she sniffed it to make sure that mike's butt crack wasn't uh still smell on there because she actually wanted to make sure she forgot if she cleaned the uh the sheets what's up

01:21:08 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 3:

rachel hey so when i just moved into my house i just bought it my bed had two pillows on it and my aunt came over one day and was like there's not enough pillows on your bed went out and bought me eight extra pillows to go on the bed every morning i have all these pillows to put on the bed to make but it does make it look better so how many total pillows are on the bed now there's 10 the two that i started with and the eight that she brought over oh lord that's that's a lot of

01:21:40 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 1:

pillows isn't it i mean i never understood is it that it looks that much better with all the pillows all over the place? I think so. Really?

01:21:48 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It really does. It does.

01:21:50 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 1:

I think so. What is it that makes it look

01:21:52 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 4:

better? I don't know. It just, it looks

01:21:54 - 01:21:58 | Speaker 1:

full. To me, it looks like if I laid down in it, my neck would be like

01:21:58 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 4:

hurting me. Well, you got to take some of them off at night.

01:22:00 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 1:

I know. And then you never know which pillow to use, you know? See, I have the same pillow.

01:22:05 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 4:

I always use the same pillow every night.

01:22:07 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And by the way, that's where also another word that I can't say. I say pillow. Pillow. Instead of pillow. All right. Lanthrop. Lathrop. Lathrop Village. Lanthrop Village. I'm sorry. I can't speak. It's the hardest. Honestly, please, I don't want anybody from Aesthetica to be mad at me. Because they came up with this name and they're friends. Like they're really good friends. Jen and Siobhan Jennifer's husband is like one of the greatest cardiologists in the world and Jennifer and Siobhan have been in this business for a long time they've worked with people making them look pretty I mean I would say that I'm a client but if I do they'll hate me for that because people will look at me and go you go to them you know one of those things but when they came up with this name I remember when Siobhan was telling me she's like yeah I'm gonna start this business and I go oh really what's it gonna be called she goes estetica med spa and iv bar and i go how do you spell that i have no clue you're not the greatest i'm not the greatest speller well i try to figure it out when i go into my ways to get my address to go there and i'm like estetica and then i'm having to like say that my ass i'm like my phone estetica and it's like spelling out ass but it's e-s-t-e-t-e-t Thank you. I-C-A. So, Aesthetica. And thank you to those guys. So, again, go to Channel 955 on Instagram. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

01:25:08 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

It's up right now, by the way. Just posted it.

01:25:11 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 1:

Good. Thank you. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Before we go any further, we have to, I guess, big brother, big sister KP a little bit here. Because she's our producer. She's 24 years old. There are things that she does sometimes that kind of are like rookie moves.

01:25:32 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know what you're going to talk about, but go ahead. Do you? Oh, yeah.

01:25:35 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's talk about it. It was a conscious choice. Okay. So KP, guess what it is.

01:25:42 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 2:

I want to know if it's KP. It's going to be one or two things. Okay. It's going to be my absolutely insane driving behind Shannon's Buick that I realized it was her this morning. I really noticed that. Okay, so not that one. It's going to be me not waiting for you guys holding the door.

01:25:59 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. Nice job. I'm very aware of myself. All right, so let me have Shannon start this topic, and then I can add to it.

01:26:07 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, today was a very weird day because normally Mojo is here before the rest of us. And KP, you're usually here. I feel like everybody, the three of us got here at the same time. We all pulled up into the parking lot at the exact same time this morning. So KP gets out of her car I get out of my car Mojo gets out of his car And KP beelines it into the building Now mind you Our radio station That's what it sounded like Our radio station You have to swipe in two different doors To get up to the Mojo in the Morning studio So you have to swipe in the front door And then you have to swipe in a door at the top of the stairs Once you get into the building So KP goes through the door to get into the building and just walks in. I get up to that door, I swipe, I keep the door open, and I wait for Mojo to walk in from the parking lot. Thank God. And did you say, where's KP? I go, oh, she already. Did you say that this morning?

01:27:05 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 1:

No, so I knew she wasn't going to be there. And I kind of slowly was walking. You were very slow, but I waited for you. So, the reason why, I have had the door slammed in my face so many times following KP up to the building. Same. Yeah. Same. Yeah. There you go. Yeah.

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what it sounds like. Keep slamming it right there in my face.

01:27:30 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 1:

As KP leaves.

01:27:31 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 3:

You could be 11 inches behind her, and she will not hold that door for you. She will book it up the stairs. Nope.

01:27:39 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 1:

Not doing it. And it's wild. So I turned the corner to my surprise, and thank you, Shannon. No, I always hold the door for you. No, I know you're very good about that, but I thought you were already long gone because you were well in front of KP, it looked like, getting in there. Shannon's still there, and I'm going, oh, well, KP must be standing there, right, Shannon? Because I would feel guilty racing past Shannon holding the door. She is nowhere to be found. She climbed the two levels of stairs and was already in the second door. She was already in her office by the time that I walked up to the door

01:28:13 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 3:

Actually last week I kind of called you out on it Yeah the door slammed in my face and I go And then you came back out and pushed the door open for me

01:28:20 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

Well here's the thing I don't know if you guys noticed I was two minutes late To our show meeting this morning Every freaking minute counts for me I have so much I need to print and the computers are so slow I have so many emails that I need to read To make sure we're on track for the show And then just getting in I love you guys so much But we talk all dang morning All dang morning I do not want to waste a second Where we could be getting into our show Going hey how was your weekend We're going to talk about that Talking to us is a waste It's not a waste We're going to talk later You literally just called us a waste Don't take it back now It's a waste of time I need to run upstairs and do my stuff I'm ready late

01:29:03 - 01:29:05 | Speaker 3:

It might be 30 seconds

01:29:05 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 2:

I was two minutes late to this meeting and it would have been two minutes and 30 seconds.

01:29:09 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 1:

I want to ask you this. Honestly, if you're walking into, say, the mall or to a store and there is like an old person trying to get in, do you just slam the door in their face or do you hold the door for them? Because you don't hold the door for people that you work with. If you don't hold the door for your friends, you're never holding the door for a stranger.

01:29:31 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. This is ridiculous. Yes, I would hold the door for an elderly person. I'm not going into work. Don't believe you. I'm not going to work, guys. We would have been late.

01:29:41 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 1:

I mean, honestly, listen, I don't want to pile on KP, but I kind of do. I want to list those thoughts on this.

01:29:46 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 3:

We need to have Mark pull the footage of it for the past two weeks.

01:29:52 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Mark, can you do us a favor? Can you pull the footage of KP and how she just leaves us out?

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 6:

What if we talked earlier this morning about being part of a crime, witnessing a crime? What if we got, you know, attacked by that skunk?

01:30:07 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 5:

What if the skunk came out of the bushes? Oh, my God.

01:30:11 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 6:

Try me a river. She would not help us out. Vicki, she is no friend of ours.

01:30:16 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 3:

No, you are not supposed to hold a security door open.

01:30:21 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes, you are. When it is an employee, when it is an employee, you absolutely hold it open.

01:30:28 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. Oh, you're rude, too. You're rude, too. No, they'll tell you when you're working at school, even, you see the teacher. They have their badge on. Do not open or hold the door for that. But she, but Vicki.

01:30:41 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 4:

For people you know, if your principal was walking through that door, you're telling me you're going to slam the door on him?

01:30:46 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. They have to swipe their badge because it's recorded swipes for people.

01:30:51 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 4:

Ours is not.

01:30:53 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 6:

Vicki, do you understand that I don't think that KP holds the door open for her grandparents when they just recently got home?

01:31:03 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 5:

For Graham and Graham. Mind you, I helped my grandma get into my truck this past weekend. I don't buy it. Literally, she couldn't even get up, so I had to push her up.

01:31:10 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 6:

Grandma, you're on your own. You're not allowed to be helped. What's going on, Kate?

01:31:16 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 2:

So, I was at a Meijer one time, and there must have been a gentleman behind me. I went to go leave And walked in the parking lot And he started calling me every name in the book Because the door was clear behind him And then he followed me for five miles Flicking me off the entire time

01:31:33 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he was real serious about it

01:31:35 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 6:

Do you feel bad? I mean, I know you don't feel bad because the guy was being a jerk But do you feel like, oh god, I forgot that I didn't

01:31:41 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 1:

You know Every time now, I check behind me And I open the door It was such a learning loss Because I never want to go through that again

01:31:49 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. And I listen, I'm the person that does the exact opposite of that. I hold the door way too long. Like if I see somebody walking from the parking lot in like a public place, I'll wait there forever. And then I get pissed because they go to the wrong store or they go to another store. Like I've had that happen before where I'm holding the door open at Ulta and the guy ends up walking in or she ends up walking into five below.

01:32:16 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 5:

You know how awkward it is when you just pull up and you're getting stuff out of your car and somebody's waiting at the front holding the door open for you and you're not ready to get out of your car yet or get your stuff. Like, I just feel like we all just should go into work and not think too hard about doors and just, you know.

01:32:34 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 6:

I just want you to know that you're not going to be getting the employee of the month award because I'm not voting for you.

01:32:39 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm aware of that. I don't even think we had that.

01:32:41 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 6:

I'm voting for you, Shannon.

01:32:42 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 4:

And if we did have that, it would be me. Or as the texter just said, I agree with Mojo and Susan. They are the right ones here. You know what?

01:32:50 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 5:

Name change. If we did have an Employee of the Month award, it would be me printing it out and putting it into a frame and awarding it and stamping it and doing all of the work and then being late for our meeting because we had that award.

01:33:03 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. Your shoulders hurting you from carrying the load.

01:33:07 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So tough. Thank you so much.

01:33:09 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 6:

Pancho, what's going on?

01:33:11 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. So if KP holds Zora open for elderlies, how come she didn't hold it open for you, Mojo? Oh, yeah, right.

01:33:17 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 6:

Right, exactly. Poncho. How you doing, Poncho? You know what, Poncho? I used to actually like you. You actually, Poncho used to be one of my favorite people.

01:33:28 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. I thought of it, and I was like, that would be a really good comment.

01:33:32 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, thank you.

01:33:33 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Motherf***er.

01:33:34 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 6:

All right, it is Emojo in the morning show. Who blew the surprise? We went to a surprise birthday party on Friday. Happy birthday to our friend Jessica. Her husband, Will, threw her surprise birthday party. And it was a really, really nice way that he kind of went about doing it because it's their son's birthday the same weekend that it's Jessica's or in the same time period, like month or whatever. It's like his birthday, Will, then their son, Danny, and then Jessica's. So what he did was he used Danny as the distraction for throwing this party by saying that we were all going to go out for Danny's birthday and go hang out together as a group, a bunch of us friends. And he sent all these text messages to everybody about how it's going to be actually a surprise party for Jessica and that we are all to meet at this time. She's going to show up there with a kid's cake and some, you know, things for her son, only to be surprised that it's going to be an adult party, that everybody's going to have some fun and goof around. Well, Steve Gabara, Megan's future husband. Ex-husband. Ten years. Future ex-husband, she says. Ten years, it will be her future husband. And then a year and a half after that, they'll probably get divorced.

01:34:54 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Depends on the prenup.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 6:

Right. Steve Gabara was one of the...

01:35:00 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 1:

people that was invited this whole thing he completely almost ruined this thing here's how it happened and you have to tell us if you've ever ruined a surprise and if so i want to know exactly how you ruined it 844 mojo live or text 95500 another friend of ours bill sends a text message and bill was not invited i guess to the party take it up bill with will i don't know why you weren't but he sends a text message and says what are you guys doing on friday and all of us including jessica the birthday girl are included on this text okay and steve gabara answers it with no problem at all and says i'm going to a surprise party was he like did he do that on purpose to

01:35:50 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 3:

try to try to throw it or was he really just a big dummy he said i didn't realize that she was

01:35:55 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

on the text he says he didn't realize that jessica's name was in the text but yet we all do these group texts all the time and that's the problem right whenever you do group texts you never know exactly who's there because it just in iphone it spurs them all out like a bunch of

01:36:10 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 3:

with their initials with the little circles yeah the circles and then a lot of times there's a

01:36:13 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 1:

group name yes and everybody by the way needs to have like their picture in the thing so you can actually see their picture instead of seeing you know what i mean and it's got to be more apparent Well, thank God that Jessica like works 8,000 hours a week and she was not paying attention to the group text and she says she didn't know that this was going on. But Megan, you got to do something with that guy because he completely almost screwed the whole damn thing up.

01:36:39 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I don't even think there's fixing him at this point. He's just, he's, he's too far gone.

01:36:44 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 1:

He's usually honestly really good at, you know, being mindful of the things. I'm usually the idiot that screws stuff up like that. I was amazed that he was the one that almost messed up the entire party, but I want to know if there's any listeners of ours that have ever done this before. Have you ever given out the information about what was supposed to be a surprise to people that were throwing the party or the person that the party was for? Like if it was a surprise party or surprise engagement or anything like that stuff. I'm tired of surprises. Take no offense.

01:37:16 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 3:

You sound like such a grouch.

01:37:18 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 1:

No, I know. I'm grouchy. I'm very grouchy, but it's also the weather. I've had enough of this weather

01:37:23 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 3:

Why are you tired of surprises?

01:37:25 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 1:

Because the engagement Already is supposedly a surprise For the person that's getting engaged Why do you gotta surprise Everybody else with the surprise? Because nobody can keep their mouth shut I understand that, but I don't want to be part of your engagement Just get engaged and then we'll have an engagement party later You know what I mean? Have you had that happen to you at all? Have you ever heard of these people that are now doing this? Because we were just involved in this like a month ago Where say that you and Wes Your fiance haven't gotten engaged yet And Wes goes I'm going to do this I'm going to throw Shannon a surprise engagement party But wait does she know she's getting engaged No she doesn't know she's getting engaged But I'm going to also not let anybody else Know that she's getting engaged And then we're all going to be at the engagement party Getting engaged together

01:38:10 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 3:

You mean celebrating the engagement

01:38:12 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 1:

What's wrong with that

01:38:15 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 3:

You just don't want to leave your house and go to a fun party. You're right.

01:38:21 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 1:

I want to do it virtually. I've turned into Megan. I want to just be home.

01:38:28 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 2:

And I feel like I've turned into you and I just want to go out and hang out with friends. I don't know what kind of weird timeline that we're living in, but I do not like it.

01:38:36 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 1:

It's weird, isn't it?

01:38:38 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 3:

I will say it is very stressful to be involved in any sort of surprise because you are constantly walking on eggshells and watching everything that you say or text.

01:38:46 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's awful. Sierra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about how Steve Gabara almost blew the surprise.

01:38:52 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. So my boyfriend at the time, I was throwing a surprise birthday party for him. I took him out to stall. We went to lunch and shopping, and everyone was arriving as we were stalling. His mom called me, and I have Bluetooth in my car. She called me and said, everyone's here. So she completely ruined the surprise because my phone was on Bluetooth, and he heard it in my car as we were.

01:39:15 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. You know what, though? That's where you have to say, you're on Bluetooth. You have to do that. It was your fault.

01:39:23 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 5:

Well, she didn't even say hi. She just said, everyone's here. Come back.

01:39:27 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 1:

You didn't even give it a chance. What's up, Haley? How you doing?

01:39:31 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

I'm doing well. How are you?

01:39:32 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Good. Who blew the surprise?

01:39:35 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

So I'm a twin, and it was my 18th birthday. And I always try to plan something fun for my twin because I don't really care much about my birthday, but she does. and so my birthday landed on a Friday and it was my 18th birthday and my friend my mom was always wanted us to throw parties at in high school also she's like throw a party I want to meet your friends and so I was like mom

01:40:00 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 3:

like we throw a party for like a surprise birthday party for my birthday and she was like oh yeah so I had my friend plan it because I hate planning things but it was my idea for the birthday party I was like just make it a surprise don't tell Rachel and just make it a surprise for her and so I had people like coming up to me being like what time's the party tonight I was like see I knew about the party but my twin doesn't so you can't tell my twin about that but I knew about it So I had people telling me about it while my friend was planning it. But my friend told everyone – this might be complicated. My friend told everyone while she was planning it that me and my twin didn't know about it.

01:40:39 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, and people were coming up to you. That just shows you that people are idiots.

01:40:43 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 3:

People are idiots. And they would come to my class and be like, what time tonight? And then we had, like, a basketball game, and they just wanted to know all about it. But my twin ended up not knowing, and it was a big surprise. We had 80 people in my basement.

01:40:56 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 1:

How does that make you feel that you have a birthday party surprise, but you knew about it, but your twin didn't know about it? Does it make you feel like you have more friends than her that told you or that you're smarter and you figured it out?

01:41:09 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 3:

I definitely, I do have more friends than her. And, like, her friends are my friends, but, like, they were my friends first.

01:41:17 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

I get it. Okay. No, I get it. Jessica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:41:23 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 4:

Morning. my um five-year-old well he's not five anymore he's 16 but my um then five-year-old son kind of ruined my engagement um my husband took him to the jewelry store to take out a ring and that night while he was taking his bath I was sitting in the bathroom with him he said daddy got you something today and I said oh okay that's nice but it was mother's day weekend so I thought you know they got me some kind of trinket somewhere yeah and he said he got you something really nice and i said oh okay i said well don't tell me he said it's jury oh no i said all right well you guys can surprise me on mother's day and he said no it's a ring oh no he kept pushing it

01:42:05 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 1:

so did you have to fake it then when he pulled it up yeah i did yep how many how long after you

01:42:13 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 4:

got engaged did you tell him i only recently told him maybe like a year oh that's funny that's nice

01:42:20 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

You kept knowing the surprise longer than your son actually took it.

01:42:26 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

But I guarantee you went right out and got your nails done as fast as you could.

01:42:29 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 4:

I did. Well, I was graduating that weekend, so I was preparing for it anyway to just look nice.

01:42:35 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 1:

I thought that was going to happen with Shannon after she told us how she got engaged and how Wes, her fiancé, pulled Lucy and Smith together and got their messages.

01:42:45 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but he didn't outright tell them that he was going to be proposing. He kind of had to beat around the bush a little bit, but still.

01:42:50 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

That was risky. Yeah. Who would have been Smith? It would absolutely have been Smith. Yeah, he would have figured that out. Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. So why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning show. How could Wendell not get a call back? Wendell, I just got a chance to look at you on your Instagram page. What a good-looking guy, Wendell.

01:43:20 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 5:

thanks man i appreciate it you know what a guy like you should never have a problem

01:43:28 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

going on a date and having her call you back but you've had that

01:43:32 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah man i don't know man it's just it's really strange uh you know we had a good time we went out to eat you know and then we had some drinks went to this little place to listen to some music and uh i mean everything was going well and then uh next thing you know i can't get a call back from her or a text back i mean i she's ghosted we always gotta ask strange how did

01:43:57 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 2:

the date end was there a kiss were there plans for a second date well you know what it ended

01:44:03 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 5:

kind of like awkward you know um it was it was it was just it was just really weird i mean it It's just like, hey, you know, well, we ended with a hug. You know, I didn't really try to go for the kiss, you know, right there.

01:44:16 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's respectful.

01:44:17 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Feel it from her.

01:44:18 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever not gotten a call back?

01:44:22 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 5:

No, I've always gotten a call back, man. I mean, you know, you've seen my Facebook. I mean, it looks good.

01:44:28 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I'm going to find out for you right now why you're not getting a call back. What's the story? Sonia's on with us right now. Is it Sonia or Sonia? Sonia Sonia Sonia Hi Sonia You okay with your voice on the radio

01:44:42 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 5:

Well I mean it depends on how you want to say it Sonia, Sonia I mean it's

01:44:45 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 1:

Well it's up to her She just said Sonia So I'm going to say it the way that she wants me to say it Sonia

01:44:49 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 5:

It's both to me right now

01:44:50 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 1:

Sonia Sonia You okay with your voice on the radio?

01:44:56 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah sure

01:44:57 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

Say hello to Wendell again

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 3:

Wendell has never had this happen to him before, Sonia.

01:45:10 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 1:

He's never had a woman not call him back after going on a date. So what's the story? Why is it that you're not calling him back? Why are you the first?

01:45:22 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 4:

That's actually very surprising that he hasn't had it happen yet. Wait, is that what all the woman knows? Um, anyways, um, yeah, he was cool, you know, he was great in the beginning, um, we were having a good time, having drinks, and I don't think, I don't even know if you know why I didn't call you, um, yeah, so do you remember, do you remember, like, uh, dropping your phone at one point and, you know, reaching under the table to grab it? Yeah, so when you did that, I got a little scared and freaked out Because I noticed that you were wearing women's underwear A thong, specifically Oh, no

01:46:04 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second He was wearing a thong He was wearing

01:46:09 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 4:

No, literally, I couldn't believe you either No, that's exactly what I said He was wearing a thong, a green, sparkly one Like, more thongish than anything I've ever worn before

01:46:21 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, let Wendell explain this Because I Well, I want to make sure he's comfortable With that information being disclosed

01:46:35 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, that's kind of I mean, this is You know, that has nothing to do with How I'm going to be in a relationship You know what I mean?

01:46:43 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 2:

Is that just your Is that your preference for underwear?

01:46:48 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not like it's a preference I mean, I, you know, I used to, you know, bodybuild and all that, and it really just helps, you know, me move freely. It helps keep things in place. So I do, you know, I wear those from time to time.

01:47:02 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 2:

Is that a thing for bodybuilders? Is that a thing for bodybuilders? I did not know that.

01:47:10 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yes. I mean, if you see, you know, if you watch it, you know, in some of the competitions and all that, you do wear that. It helps.

01:47:18 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I do. So it's like, is it briefs or is it a thong? She said thong.

01:47:26 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a thong. I rarely wear briefs. But I mean, well, I didn't have, I have a lot of different pair. And those are the only clean ones that I had at the time. So that's why I have some fun pair.

01:47:43 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but it looks like you were wearing it for entertainment, not for comfortability. Yeah, but you're acting like you've never been down to the last pair.

01:47:52 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But wait. My last pair are actually Christmas. I kind of agree with her.

01:47:57 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 2:

That would have threw me off big time.

01:48:00 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 1:

So, Wendell, is it a, and if you're not comfortable talking about this, obviously you can tell us, but is it a man thong? Like, is it a thong that, like you said, bodybuilders wear? Is it something that you're not, Because she made it seem like you were wearing a woman's underwear.

01:48:20 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, it's a man's song.

01:48:23 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:48:23 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 3:

That doesn't matter. I don't know. I think the color that I had on that day, I don't even remember. You know, I danced a few times. Fun. There you go.

01:48:36 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 2:

So that was my question for Sonia.

01:48:40 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 3:

I didn't want to talk about that right now. That's not a first date thing. Which is fair.

01:48:46 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 2:

But what was more off-putting to you, Sonia? Was it the fact that he was wearing the thong, or was it the fact that in your head you were thinking that that's something that he does on the side?

01:48:59 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the second one. I mean, if he would have kind of explained that he was just for athletic purposes, that's different, but to me it was just like a hidden secret, you know. But how was he... I don't know.

01:49:13 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 2:

So how is he supposed to explain that if you didn't bring it up with him?

01:49:18 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 4:

Like when I meet these guys on, you know, on dating websites, when I see weird things, the first thing I do is just run. I just didn't know how to say that and still be out in public with him and what he would do after the fact. You know what I mean? I just, for my own safety, I just kind of like remove myself from the situation.

01:49:36 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was waiting for this.

01:49:38 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you could have texted me back or called me. You could have said, hey, listen, you know, I don't really like, you know, the green thong. Whatever it was, you know, I just feel that, you know, we had a good time. You know, I talked about all the athletics and stuff that I played.

01:49:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, is it athletics or are you a, are you a male?

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 8:

performer? Like, are you a either a stripper or a male?

01:50:07 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 4:

Well, on my Facebook, you found it and everything.

01:50:10 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 8:

I looked at it. I mean, I said this guy's a good looking guy. Like, let me tell you this. There's not a shirt that this man wears that's loose. I've not seen one on your entire page. Hold on a second. Jennifer wants to comment. Jennifer, it's Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

01:50:25 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I would just like to let this gentleman know that we love and respect a king that is comfortable in his masculinity. Yes, ma'am. Yes. And you know, my husband wears ladies underwear too, and he says that they hold and support everything. No, no, no.

01:50:44 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 8:

Real quick. He says he's not wearing ladies underwear. These are man thongs. He's not wearing ladies underwear. Well, yeah, he's got

01:50:49 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 7:

some man thongs too, and they do come in fun prints or shimmery prints, but sometimes, you know, Walmart doesn't carry men's thongs and neither does Target.

01:51:02 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I got these from Amazon, so I get a lot of mine from Amazon.

01:51:06 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 3:

Also, we talk about men and their gross underwear all the time. Let's be honest, guys. Most of your boxers have holes in them. I just respect a man with clean, nice underwear on.

01:51:16 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 8:

But these ones were clean because he said it was his last pair, and they were green and sparkly. Sonia, were you attracted to him prior to him dropping his phone and bending over and you seeing this? Did you find him attractive?

01:51:32 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I did. I went out with him, so of course I did. He did have a good time. It just threw me off.

01:51:40 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 8:

So why hold it against him, the man's underwear? I've got to be honest, if you saw some of the underwear that I wear and that my wife has to put up with, you would probably never want to be in a relationship with me and want my wife out of my relationship.

01:51:53 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm really sorry. I'm just not into it. Like, I'm just into a different type of man.

01:51:59 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

01:52:00 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I'm a man. And like I said, it has nothing to do with how I am in a relationship. You know? I mean, like you said, we had good time. We kicked it off pretty good. We had good conversations at times. So, I mean, you know.

01:52:14 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 8:

Crystal, comment from you. What's up?

01:52:17 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. I went that last caller. I love a king and a man song. You dress that however you want Under whatever you want In whatever color

01:52:27 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 8:

I think that there's nothing wrong with that, right? I mean, you're not going to be wearing that In the bedroom anyway, right? If you guys eventually get to the bedroom You're going to be taking that thing off

01:52:36 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 6:

You take that thing off, man It's not like he's only walking around that in public

01:52:40 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 8:

If I wore a thong like that I will tell you this You'd want me to perform in that thing You'd want to see it, right?

01:52:48 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 2:

Who are you talking to?

01:52:50 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 8:

I'm just Who's supposed to answer that question? Did I say that out loud? I don't know. I used my outside voice inside. I should not have said that. All right. Wendell, I'm sorry that it didn't work out. Sonia, I think that you're making a huge mistake. This man is a good-looking, reputable man with a job, right? A J-O-B.

01:53:15 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 4:

A J-O-B, man. I got it. I just wear different underwear.

01:53:20 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 8:

All right. For what? Thank you, Wendell. I appreciate you, buddy. I'm sorry that we didn't get you another date. All right, second date update right now.

01:53:28 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 2:

Why aren't you getting a call back?

01:53:30 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 9:

So we should go out again.

01:53:31 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 6:

Sure, we'll figure something out.

01:53:33 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning, second date update.

01:53:35 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning.

01:53:38 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:53:40 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 8:

What do you have in this hour's Dirty on the 30, Shannon?

01:53:43 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan DeVino, stepped out for a date night over the weekend, and it was interesting. I saw like every single tabloid covering this because it was very obvious they were trying to squash the rumors that something is going on between Sydney and her rom-com co-star Top Gun Maverick star Glenn Powell. So Sydney and Jonathan spotted out in New York City on Friday night. She was looking very sexy with what she was wearing. And this outing makes a very rare public appearance for them. And I think that's why so much focus was on this. They are notoriously a pretty private couple. The last time they were photographed out in public together was in October of last year. Randomly, the paparazzi spotted them going to the airport, but still trying to do some damage control here with her insinuating that she is still very much together with her fiancé and not with Glenn Powell in the wake of the split with his girlfriend. Michael J. Fox, interviewed by Jane Pauley for CBS Sunday Morning Yesterday, sharing some details about his decades-long battle with Parkinson's disease.

01:54:47 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 9:

I had a tumor on my spine. It was benign, but it messed up my wife. And then I started to break stuff. Broke this arm, I broke this arm, I broke this elbow, I broke my face, I broke...

01:55:00 - 01:55:01 | Speaker 2:

But my hand...

01:55:01 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 3:

Falling on things.

01:55:02 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm falling. Which is a big killer with Martha. It's getting tougher. Every day you suffer. But that's the way it is. I mean, who do I see about that?

01:55:10 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he said he knows that people in his position don't survive long.

01:55:14 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to lie. It's getting harder. It's getting tougher. Every day you suffer. But that's the way it is. I mean, who do I see about that?

01:55:25 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 1:

He was telling Dane Pauly about something that made him really, really happy recently.

01:55:30 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 2:

And again, this is Michael J. Fox. We had to go through our den, our TV room, and I looked at Back to the Future and I was just starting. And I hadn't seen it since, like, 1987, I hadn't seen it. And I sat down on the sofa, like, 45 minutes later, Chase goes, what are you doing? Where are you? And I said, Back to the Future is on. He said, you're watching Back to the Future? And I said, yeah, you know, I'm really good in it. He said he was really impressed with his performance in the movie.

01:55:54 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 1:

that made him happy, made his day. Post Malone addressing concerns about his weight in a post on Instagram. And word on the street is that he's lost a lot of weight and drugs are to blame. But he said, nope, that's not the case at all. He writes, I wanted to say that I'm not doing drugs. I've had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I'd suppose performance on stage. I'm having a lot of fun performing, a lot of fun performing, excuse me, and I've never felt healthier. He writes, I guess dad life kicked in and I decided to kick soda and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel.

01:56:32 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 4:

Is he taking Manjurno like all the other celebrities?

01:56:35 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Or Ozempic. He said, next up is smokes and brews, but I'd like to consider myself a patient man. In that same post, he said he's also happy and working on new music.

01:56:46 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of videos that are surfacing of him recently that make me question that statement. Really?

01:56:51 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, that would make me so sad.

01:56:53 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 3:

Same. Especially with this baby girl.

01:56:56 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, speaking of Ozempic, did you guys see, this was going around everywhere over the weekend, the new Flounder from the Little Mermaid live-action movie?

01:57:06 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:57:06 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 1:

Flounder, you know, Flounder is like the cute, puffy little yellow and blue fish from the original animated Little Mermaid. Well, in the live-action movie, Flounder's like this little paper-thin skinny thing. And so the meme that's going around is saying the latest victim of the Hollywood Ozempic race, and it's floundered from the new little mermaid.

01:57:28 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

You could tell me that you would grow gills on Ozempic, and I would still take it. Are you kidding me?

01:57:33 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 1:

I mean, Phoenix Sun star Kevin Durant has signed a lifetime contract with Nike, signed with Nike during his rookie season back in 2007. He's released upwards of 15 pairs of basketball shoes since that time. But he joins Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the only basketball players to have lifetime contracts with night game. In other sports dirty this morning, a sad story. Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Shaquille Barrett's two-year-old daughter, Araya, drowned in a swimming pool at his home in Tampa yesterday. That's awful. According to a statement from the Tampa PD, officers arrived at his home just before 930 in the morning after receiving a call that a child had fallen into the pool. The little girl was then transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead shortly later, despite several attempts to save her life. The Tampa PD said they are still investigating. However, they're saying this is really just a purely accidental and tragic incident. Araya Barrett was the youngest of four kids in the Barrett family. Just awful. And I'll end on a heartwarming story. A New York man who was on a Times Square billboard during 2018 while he was searching for a kidney donor, is now recovering from the long-awaited transplant. On April 25th, Mark Weiner, a 58-year-old cancer survivor, finally received the life-changing kidney transplant that was years in the making. His wife's employer basically put up this billboard in Times Square because this man was so desperate for a kidney. I mean, it was going to save his life.

01:59:10 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 4:

And they advertised for a donor?

01:59:11 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 1:

They advertised for a donor in Times Square. The sign read, my name is Mark, I need a kidney, you can help, along with a link to a website for his donor search. Well, that Times Square billboard prompted responses from hundreds of applicants, one of whom actually gave him his brand new life-saving kidney.

01:59:29 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Was it the guy that wears the bikini briefs and plays the guitar? I don't know, I don't think he... Was it the cowboy?

01:59:36 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the underwear cowboy. What do they call him? I don't know. Naked cowboy.

01:59:39 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 4:

The naked cowboy?

01:59:40 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com

01:59:44 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show

01:59:54 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for being here

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 2:

We were talking about the weekend. So you actually said that you went out over the weekend and you were celebrating your brother-in-law's birthday. Is that right?

02:00:09 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, we were celebrating my brother-in-law, Ryan's birthday. Happy birthday, Ryan. And also, my family, we just wanted to spend some time together. And so we decided that we were going to go bowling. And you guys know my love for bowling.

02:00:21 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 2:

I love bowling. You've been obsessed with bowling. You are truly a Midwesterner.

02:00:25 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 3:

I know.

02:00:26 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 2:

Because your love for bowling. I love bowling. Did you grow up in a bowling household? Did, like, your mom and dad, like, have bowling leagues? Yes. I know you're a down-river girl. Yes. Down-river people always seem like they bowl.

02:00:37 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 4:

Love bowling. Well, so I knew that my mom and my dad did, like, they were on a bowling league when they were married. My dad is actually still on a bowling league. He bowls on Thursday mornings. But we like to go. I like to take the kids to this place in Troy called Escape. They have, like, an arcade and laser tag. And then, like, they have bowling and food and all of that stuff. So that's where we ended up going on Saturday. Well, so it was myself, Wes, my kids, my sister, my brother-in-law, Ryan, her two girls, and then my mom. My mom shows up to the bowling alley carrying her purse and a light blue leather, pleather, don't know, bowling bag with her own maroon-colored bowling ball straight out of 1975. Wow. I about died. My sister and I roasted her to no end That she was like so proud That she could dust off this bowling ball

02:01:31 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 2:

Did you know that your mom had her own bowling ball?

02:01:34 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 4:

I think I remember seeing Somebody's bowling bag like in the basement When we would play hide and seek when I was little Okay, but I did not know she still had this thing So we're roasting her Until she kicks our butts Wow I had no idea Like she was a sleeper here that she is actually a really seriously good bowler. We were all stunned, and then we shut our mouths and quit roasting her because I had, like, 33 points.

02:02:03 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm such a terrible bowler. But, yeah, my mom is a really good bowler. Isn't it?

02:02:08 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 2:

It's wild when you see, like, somebody, especially a parent in this case, that's actually good at something, and you had no idea that they were, like, good at that.

02:02:18 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 4:

She said she bowled her best game ever when she was eight and a half months pregnant with me.

02:02:22 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 2:

It's like she's a ringer You didn't even realize that she's Done this before

02:02:27 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

But the fact that she showed up with her own ball too I loved it

02:02:30 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Does that ever happen from time to time with your parents Where your parents don't tell you stuff that they're really good at And then all of a sudden Next thing you know you find out that your parent is Unbelievable My dad was a great dancer You would never know from me My dad is Cuban And have you ever seen me dance I mean it is total

02:02:51 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 4:

you know it looks like something's wrong and we should take you to the hospital it does it looks

02:02:55 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 2:

like i'm sometimes people don't make fun of me or don't laugh at how i'm dancing because they do think that if they laugh they'll they get in trouble for the fact that that maybe i have a problem and that's why they're laughing but um my dad was an amazing dancer like my dad and if my dad my dad if if there was i saw him dance once with my mom and she it was very slow as a slow dance. Never really saw them like kind of like do the whole dancing thing. And then one time we were after my mom had passed, we went to a friend of my sister's wedding as a family. And my dad got on the dance floor with one of the bridesmaids. And I said, now I know where, you know, mom ended up, you know, why she married dad. Like I thought, my God, this guy. And you know what they say about

02:03:44 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 4:

people who are good dancers. So you're saying

02:03:45 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 2:

my dad was good in the bedroom? Probably.

02:03:47 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 4:

That is weird.

02:03:49 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 2:

I kind of like hope he was.

02:03:52 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Like honestly. That's weird to play that sound effect. What is wrong with the people that I

02:03:55 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 2:

work with? No. A lot. It would be nice to know. Like you wouldn't want to know, Megan, that your dad is like great in

02:04:02 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 1:

bed? Wish him the best. Don't want to

02:04:04 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

know. Shannon just found out that her mom was a good bowler.

02:04:07 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 1:

Is. That's different. I know. Yeah, those skills are not in the same

02:04:11 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 4:

creepiness. Balls are part of both stories.

02:04:14 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 2:

What would you rather have that you knew that your dad was satisfying to your mom or your mom was a good bowler?

02:04:29 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 3:

Mom was a good bowler.

02:04:32 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Mojo in the Morning Show? How are you doing, Katie?

02:04:35 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning, guys. Good morning. This topic makes me laugh so hard. I'm 48 years old, and my entire life, my dad told me he had all of his teeth. And I'm like, well, wow, that's great, you know, because, like, my kids have had root canals and cavities. And so I always tell everybody, like, yeah, my dad's in his 70s. He's got all his teeth. Well, recently I had to take him to the hospital for a neck x-ray. And I was in the hospital.

02:05:00 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 3:

room with the technician and i looked at this x-ray and his teeth were a completely different color and i said to the technician i'm like why is that she goes well that's because those are fake teeth oh no idea i said no idea i said dad you said those were all your teeth he's like well

02:05:18 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 2:

they are i paid for them by the way i am amazed at how many people that because i had a friend of mine growing up uh katie i'm amazed at how many people didn't realize that my friend's dad wore a toupee and i was one of them john joyce was the guy's name the the the friend of mine right and john joyce's dad this is no joke we were staying at his house he comes into the other room and i said oh john is your grandpa here because his dad took the toupee off and he was bald again No hair at all. No. And everybody dead stopped, looked at me, and goes, it's his dad. I didn't realize that it was a toupee. Have you ever seen anybody with a toupee and not realized it was a toupee?

02:06:05 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're getting better, man. Well, yes. It's somebody that we all know. Do not say it out loud.

02:06:09 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not going to say it.

02:06:10 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 1:

You know exactly who I'm talking about, though. But I didn't realize. Now I see it. But I did not realize it for years, for a very long time.

02:06:18 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 2:

I will, I'll, I'll say this to you that I think it's wild how parents will keep some certain things, you know, from you and not tell you. And obviously it's as simple as, you know, you never maybe paid attention when you're younger, but then there's something that's so obvious as my dad's teeth or, or John Joyce's dad's, uh, toupee, toupee that he was wearing. What did you find out Megan about Scott and Mick later in life that you didn't realize? Is there anything about him that we, we should know?

02:06:48 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 5:

That he's actually, like, loving and compassionate and caring. That he cares about me. Kind of, yeah.

02:06:58 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 6:

No, I don't think there was anything, like, too big. Yet.

02:07:03 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

Maybe you haven't found it out yet.

02:07:04 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's why I think I'm a little bit nervous about that. What if he's been working for the government the whole time? What if he's a spy and we didn't know?

02:07:11 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's the thing. He leaves town, and I ask you, what does he do?

02:07:15 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 6:

You say he works with plastics.

02:07:16 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 2:

He's in plastics and works in factories.

02:07:19 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 6:

He's in quality control management.

02:07:21 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever been to any place that he's worked?

02:07:24 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. Well, yes. Yes. But it was a really long time ago, and not everybody in the building knew him. And he said that was because he traveled, but maybe it was just a cover story. I have asked a million times to drop him off lunch, especially if I am working up in the Detroit studios with you guys. I'll be like, let me swing by and bring you some lunch. She's like, no, no, I'm pretty busy today. You guys, what if he has a double life? What if he has another family?

02:07:53 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What if your dad does have another family?

02:07:56 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 6:

I bet he does. It happens.

02:07:58 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 2:

And he's got a daughter that looks just like you.

02:08:02 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 6:

He probably likes her more.

02:08:03 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 2:

You think?

02:08:04 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, first, I would.

02:08:05 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Lexi? Hi.

02:08:08 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So my grandma, when I was sick, she would always make chicken noodle soup. like it was Gigi's or you know my grandma's homemade chicken noodle soup so one day after I got married I was sick I don't think grandma I just really want your chicken noodle soup and she goes okay go to Gordon food services and get it and you know or go to the basement and pull it up and put it in the um pot and I looked at her like what do you mean and she said what it's just a soup you know you get from the freezer and I was like no this is a homemade soup I'm not talking about stores she goes honey I've always got it from Gordon oh no oh my gosh yeah so now she tells people she's like this is the soup that changed Lexi's life like this is a whole lie now so it's

02:08:46 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 2:

a big thing for our family oh that's funny that's kind of depressing isn't it do you think that there's something that passed out although it's nice yeah now you don't have to make it yeah it's true mojo on the morning show so Megan got caught in a very embarrassing situation in an elevator

02:09:03 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 6:

oh my god you guys are gonna love this so you know how um my one true passion and happy in life is getting murdered so I end up in a documentary.

02:09:14 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Megan, Mick. That's your one true

02:09:16 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 6:

passion. Yeah, I either want to be in somebody's murder documentary, like I know all of Ellen, our former producer's passwords, because she has a file on her computer if she gets murdered. And I can't wait to like sit down in front of the cameras and throw it on the table and be like what do you want to know? Like that's goal number one in life. Will I be sad that she's dead? Of course. Will I also be a little bit excited? Yes. So I'm also in the boat of if I get murdered, I know the game plan, right? The production company is going to reach out and find all the evidence. And they put that, you know, they organize it all together. But they'll also reach out to anywhere that you might have been on CC cameras. And I have started noticing.

02:10:00 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 3:

a pattern that when a young lady, because I am young, gets murdered, they usually pull up elevator footage from the last time they were seen. So every time I get into an elevator, I check for cameras. And the best thing that ever happened to me was when my dad moved into his current apartment, there is a camera in his elevator. And every time I get into that elevator, I do something stupid Because I go, if this is the moment where I die, I can't wait for this footage to be pulled and be put out for everybody.

02:10:32 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 1:

What kind of stupid are you doing in the elevator?

02:10:34 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 3:

I twerk. I dance. I'll twirl. I start posing, walking the runway, whatever it is. I just try to be an idiot. So this weekend I was with my dad. And we were in the elevator. And I just started dancing like a little airplane. like i threw my arms out behind my back and i was like running around like i was a little airplane i was going and my dad was like what are you doing i'm like i'm an airplane and he thought i was psychopathic because that behavior is um weird i admit but we get out into the lobby and the guy working at the front desk just looks at me and he goes are you okay and i go what he goes what were you doing in the elevator i go you watch that footage people have been watching me do this every time i'm in the elevator i do it's all the time on the screen isn't it apparently i didn't know i wouldn't i

02:11:27 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 1:

would have okay wait we need to get all of this footage your dad is your dad friends with the something with the door guy i hope not oh my god scott i'm i'm calling your dad scott mick later and I'm going to ask him for that.

02:11:43 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 3:

I know. I'm just, I'm a psychopath. But I truly hope that one day that footage is used and you all will watch my death documentary and be like, it's what she always wanted.

02:11:53 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 1:

It's funny because I've always just assumed that there's never any video camera in there and I've always assumed that that little call button that you push, nobody's ever going to answer when you're inside of an elevator.

02:12:04 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Weren't you stuck inside an elevator though?

02:12:05 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 1:

I got stuck at Monty's.

02:12:07 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I feel like that happened recently.

02:12:09 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 1:

Monty, I was going to Monty's pharmacy So Monty is our official, the official pharmacist, not like our legal pharmacist, but the real pharmacist of the Mojo in the Morning Show. And his office is on Telegraph right there at 12 Mile.

02:12:21 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:12:22 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 1:

And I get into the elevator.

02:12:23 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 4:

I go there for my ENT, so I know exactly what you're talking about.

02:12:26 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 1:

What's your ENT's name?

02:12:27 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 4:

Dr. Weingarten.

02:12:28 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Friend of Monty's too. Get in the elevator. Now, mind you, Monty's only on the second floor. I could have taken the stairs, but I won't get there. And I get stuck in the elevator and have to call him. And he has to. we're in between floors he has to pry the thing open in order to get me out of the elevator to get uh to get out of the thing and I didn't even realize but I that there's actually a uh camera probably taping me at that time I started panicking I started getting into a moment where I felt like I couldn't breathe because I was in there and I felt like I was so scared the only

02:13:04 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 4:

time I'm ever like very aware like hyper aware of the cameras and feeling embarrassed about my behavior is if my kids are with me and i'm like yelling at them for something because then i'm like oh they probably think i'm the meanest mom in the world do you do that like when you're in

02:13:17 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 1:

the store like if you're in a store somewhere you look for the security cameras to see before

02:13:21 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 4:

you start yelling at them no it's after that i notice and i'm like oh man um my brother and i

02:13:26 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 3:

had a whole mic or sorry mock fight in the elevator like the slow motion punching and the kicking and falling down i can't i can't imagine what people would find what's going on helena

02:13:37 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm just saying that if Megan does get murdered and this is the last thing on the CC footage and they put this in the documentary, they're going to think she's on drugs. That's very true.

02:13:50 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That is so true. They're going to think that she took, like, bath salts or something like that, right?

02:13:56 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Something.

02:13:57 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Megan, you ever think about that?

02:13:59 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 3:

No, but they'd also be a little bit, right?

02:14:02 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 1:

Helena, are you ever aware of the CC cameras that are there, like that are watching you at all time, those closed circuit cameras?

02:14:10 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 2:

No, never. Usually on the front of my phone, like texting an email or shooting over a text message to someone. I never paid a jerk from her.

02:14:17 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Have you ever picked your nose and then realized there's a camera and then you just pretend to rub your nose like you were just itching it?

02:14:23 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

02:14:24 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Never have I done that.

02:14:25 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 1:

So I did that, not realizing that at the bank, that they can see you inside of the bank, that they have like a little camera.

02:14:33 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you mean by the ATM machine?

02:14:34 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 1:

So no, not the ATM. So I went to the third teller line of the drive-thru bank, thinking that I'm far enough away. And I was digging really deep for that one because it was like stuck behind like my astral, my actual nostril. Where was your thing? What were you digging for?

02:14:58 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

You mushed two words together.

02:15:00 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 1:

I was picking for more than just boogers. And I'm digging, digging, digging, and I could hear her giggling at the beginning of the thing. And she said, hey, how you doing today? And then you scratch or rub. And I just scratch and rub. And she said, you look like you're having a great day. And I'm like, oh, Christ. I was going to say Christ, but somebody said that I got to stop taking the Lord's name in vain. What's up, Miller? Hi.

02:15:26 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Hey. So, I used to be really obsessed with murder shows, too. But then I realized that a couple of my regulars wound up on these murder shows. So, like, one was Dateline, and his name was Sean Smith, and he had murdered a girl. What? And then another one was Netflix.

02:15:45 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean regulars?

02:15:46 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 5:

Are you a bartender? Yeah. So, they were, I was a bartender, and they were regulars at the bar. Who's the other one? And then the other one was Casey Joy. He was on the Netflix worst roommate ever. I think he was episode two.

02:16:01 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 4:

Shut up. So did you have to go on to talk about them?

02:16:05 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 5:

No, I actually, I refused to talk about them because it was really scary. I mean, they were like regular people and they killed people. So I never thought that, I mean, the Casey Joy, I couldn't believe he murdered a woman because I seriously thought he was gay for like the four years he sat at my bar.

02:16:22 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 1:

And would he ever tell you anything that made you go, uh-oh, he was talking to me about it?

02:16:27 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 5:

Never. Never.

02:16:29 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 1:

Was he ever, like, alone with you walking out to your car or anything like that?

02:16:33 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 5:

No. I mean, there's been security every place that I've worked, so no.

02:16:38 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Be careful. Seriously. You never know, right? Oh, no.

02:16:40 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 5:

Now I have really big trust issues, guys.

02:16:43 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. Morgan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:16:47 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I was just going to say, at one of my old jobs, I had a really bad wedgie, the kind that you can't just grab from the outside of your pants. So I, in the break room, stuck my hand down my pants, pulled the wedgie out. And then about a week later, in casual conversation with a co-worker, they tell me that there's cameras in the break room and they see everything.

02:17:06 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. They don't think you're pulling a wedgie out. They think you're doing something to yourself, right?

02:17:12 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I mean, it was a big wedgie. It took me a little bit, so probably.

02:17:16 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 1:

They're like, she's giving herself a week around. Picking your astral, like Mojo-wise. Oh, that's right. Hey, come on. Cindy, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:17:25 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 3:

Hi. We were walking into Carter's, and they have a big screen when you walk in. So I told my granddaughter, I was like, you better be good. They're watching you. So she starts flipping off the camera. In the middle of the car, the ladies are laughing. Her mom's 31. We're still not swearing in front of me. She spells out the words, like, spit in front of me. And here's her daughter flipping off the camera. Oh, my gosh. I'm dying as a grandma, you know. I have to.

02:17:50 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:17:50 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 3:

So I have to blame it on the donor.

02:17:52 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that beautiful? Yeah, blame it on her dad's side of the family.

02:17:56 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning, Channel 955, Detroit, 104.5, SNX, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Channel... Oh, I already said Channel 955. And 92.5, KISS FM in Toledo, plus the iHeartRadio app. And also on Channel 955. Did I tell you that? It's also on Channel 955. time um so if you uh listen to the show and you ever tune in either late or you just don't like to wake up early in the morning we uh have a podcast for you all the time so everything that we do is podcast we appreciate you guys for you know listening the way that you want to and checking our show out do us a favor try to listen if you can within you know the you know first 24 hours or so of us doing something because then if you decide that you're going to Listen live, we don't want you to be left out in the cold not knowing what we're talking about if we're referring to something that happened either the day prior or sometimes two or three days prior. I posted something on social media this weekend that was on my own personal social media. So it wasn't on Mojo in the Morning. It was on my own personal one that usually is the one that I just have my friends and family and stuff like that follow because there are times where I will share something that like a friend or a family member or like my kids or my wife, Chelsea, just don't want, you know, out to the general public. And so this weekend I posted something that I thought was very heartwarming that Chelsea had posted. So I screenshot something that she put on Instagram. Friday morning was our baby son, our youngest of three, Luke, his last day of high school. And I've been talking about this lately, if you've been listening, of just how emotional this has been for me. Well, honestly, it pales in comparison to how emotional this is for Chelsea because Chelsea is their mom. She's been a stay-at-home mom since Joe, who's now 27, was a baby. and she's raised these kids to be incredible and she posted a picture of Luke from when he was first in kindergarten to Luke's last day of high school. She did the whole comparison thing. I cried like a baby looking at it.

02:21:33 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 2:

That was crazy to look at.

02:21:35 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

And then she put it on her Instagram and she used that, which is her and Luke's favorite song, which is that Coldplay song, Star Full of Something and Others. All right, what is it? In the star, in the star. Sky Full of Stars. Sky full of stars. Yeah, stars full of skies. I was going to say. Yes, so that's their song that they would listen to when she was driving him to school.

02:21:58 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so cute.

02:21:59 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that cute? So I screenshot it, and then I posted with the screenshot, and I should read it because it won't make me look good.

02:22:06 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 2:

It was very nice.

02:22:08 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. I posted it, and I wrote, yesterday Chelsea posted this on her Instagram about Luke's last day of high school we are so proud of him i want to acknowledge her the mom that busted her ass for 27 years and always puts the boys first the men that she has raised today are so i'm here i am going off because i'm about to cry i i'm my own writing is making me cry is that narcissistic of me the men that she's raised are who they are today because of their best critic and biggest fan in their corner every day i love you so much chelsea i'm gonna cry god what a husband i am but no i do want her to know how much i love i love her and i appreciate she gave up you know having you know a career um then she started a career and then she gave that up again when she realized that she was spending less time with Luke and you know puts up with all the crap that she gets every single day from me but also from the boys because you know we're men and we're idiots but and I love her so much and I know that this is a very very hard time for her I know that she's you know struggling and will struggle with the fact that this is our baby so now let me get to my topic here. So I posted this on my Instagram and Facebook. And then I got a DM sent to me by someone that Chelsea and I both know, who is a friend of ours, who said, she wrote, she's actually divorced. She said, she reached out and said, I really wish that my ex, she said his name, would see this. And I wrote her back and said, he did see it. He actually liked it. And she said no he didn't she said i follow him and didn't see his likes in the uh in the instagram and i said yes he did and screenshotted it and then sent it to her so that she could see that he actually liked it so it's something that you know he had liked she then later contacted me to tell me that she is not blocked by him on social media but was specifically blocked she was blocked by him liking this and liking specific things and I never knew that you could do this wait I didn't know that you could do that either I never knew that you can you can block

02:24:50 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 2:

people from seeing the likes that you have I knew you could you you could block certain people from seeing your story you're talking instagram right just instagram yeah i knew you could block people from seeing your story i didn't know that you could block people from seeing what you like so isn't that just blocking them no i hadn't heard of this right and i googled it and you can restrict somebody on instagram and so that's what that does they can't see any of your activity not all of your activity

02:25:16 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 3:

but some like the comments and likes and stuff i i did a little deep diving on it too because i

02:25:23 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 1:

thought oh boy this is something i want to know because there are some times where there's some people put thirst trap pictures up all the time and i want to like them but i don't want i don't want necessarily my wife to see that i'm liking them but i here i am after a nice moment like that going back to uh to talking about that but no i did not know honestly that you could do this and i thought that this is very interesting because i'm like going why would you not want other people to see what the things that you're liking like why is it that you would not want someone to know that you're liking somebody else's post right well unless you're being shady exactly like what are you hiding and and I find it interesting that he would not want her to know that he likes this and I know that they've been divorced for a while but I thought who cares and maybe that would be a moment that if you did see something that you would reach out to them and say hey by the way I appreciate you as a person because she wanted him to see it because she felt like he never appreciated her right right as a mom um this is interesting I know people do a lot of stuff like behind their the scenes you know what I mean like they they hide certain things about you know what they're doing and they've got you know secret lives and things like that I'm always amazed at how they're able to get away with it because I can't even get away with something for like a second before somebody notices that I changed something or did something differently like it always comes back to bite me in the ass like I always get bitten in the ass by something that I did or was planning on doing like even before I do it just the idea that I thought about it gets me in trouble and it pisses me off that these people get away with it but what are you hiding from someone what are you hiding or specifically maybe on social media what are you hiding uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 or text 95500 is uh is our telephone number i mean social media is one of those things where anyway it's it's uh it's it's a rat trap it's just trouble which is awful it really is all it all all you're asking for anytime on anything social media and maybe tick tock not so much but definitely instagram and facebook now it used to just be facebook now it's instagram too all you're asking for are people to to send stuff that they hate or nobody ever i i am amazed sometimes at the things that people will hate on and they'll do it with their their the people that i know i'm not amazed by are the people that have Only one person that they follow Or one post that they've ever put up Or zero posts And they only follow like two people or three people

02:28:12 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 2:

But those are bot accounts or trolls

02:28:14 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:28:15 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 2:

They only have an account so they can go and Make mean comments on other people's accounts

02:28:19 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 1:

But I'm amazed at the people

02:28:20 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Those are the be blocked and be blessed in my world

02:28:22 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I'm amazed by the people who have like All their family members, their friends Their places that they work and all that stuff and they'll post some stuff on there. But now knowing that you can actually block this and you can do certain things like this, it's pretty unbelievable.

02:28:40 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 3:

It also just seems like a lot of work. Like, who's got time for this?

02:28:44 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember when, I mean, it was MySpace, I guess, first, but I was really never big on MySpace. Facebook. I got into Facebook when Facebook came out. But do you remember when it first came out, it was so antiquated compared to what it is nowadays? And-

02:28:59 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, first of all?

02:29:00 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:29:01 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 2:

good word thank you yeah sorry continue that was you're right though all you could really do on it aside from posting a picture was post a status update and it started it for you it was so thomas

02:29:12 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 1:

is yeah and then you filled it in and it was so like old school like just it was oh good look at this like because you know what it was our mindset wasn't so bad like we all weren't so so angry you know what i mean like we were actually nice people back then you think so or we were not as sneaky Or we didn't. You know what I mean? Maybe we were not as sneaky that we needed all this stuff. And then what did it end up doing? It ended up making us all sneaky people.

02:29:38 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever muted anybody on Instagram? Oh, yeah. So that you don't see their stories? You know what I'm talking about with that, right?

02:29:45 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:29:46 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:29:46 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, for your own self-preservation.

02:29:48 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, because I have muted people before for my own mental health purposes. I don't want to unfollow them. Name them. Well, I'll name them. Well, I'll name one. I do it sometimes with Andrew, my ex-husband. I will mute his stuff. If he is somewhere with the kids, it kills me to see that they are away. Like, usually I'm on a vacation. And so for my own mental health, because I know that I don't have any willpower to not look, if it comes up in my, like, storyline, you know, as I'm scrolling and not paying attention. So I purposely will do that for a short period of time so that I don't see that. And it just, it protects my brain and my heart.

02:30:24 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's rational. I was looking for pettiness. Well, I'm sorry.

02:30:26 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 2:

You just asked a name. and so that's really the one that I do. I really do.

02:30:30 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 1:

And it's because you're seeing your kids and you're seeing your ex-husband and you're thinking to yourself, I miss them.

02:30:36 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I miss my kids so much and I know that I don't have the willpower to not look if I don't do that. But if I do that, it helps me so much. So I do. I don't even know if he knows that. But there you go.

02:30:46 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 1:

I have to, honestly, I have to, in a lot of cases, just personally just try to stay away from it. And that's the hardest thing for me. And I've always been good at it. But I haven't been as good at it lately just because of the, you know, the nature of changes and things like that that have happened. And, you know, you're reading comments and things like that. So I used to always tell you guys, don't read the comments. Remember that? I would always tell.

02:31:15 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard you ever yell that at me. Ever.

02:31:18 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 1:

No, that was my thing. I'm like, why are you reading that stuff? Like, honestly, I truly, in all the years that I've been doing this, I never read, not that I don't care to see what you guys have to say about the show or say about us, but to me, anything that you were going to say, I would hope that you would say it to me personally, face-to-face when I'm out somewhere, or say it to me on the radio. And the problem is that the people that have the mean stuff to say will never say it to you face-to-face or even over the phone.

02:31:51 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yep.

02:31:52 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Lynn, voice disguise. We're talking about what are you hiding? What's going on, Lynn?

02:31:58 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Hi, everybody. Love you guys. Love you, too. Love you, too. We love you, too. Oh, I just wanted that drop. I am leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow, and I am not telling my mom who I'm going with. And I will not be posting on social media so that my best friends don't know that I'm going to be going at the same time as someone else that they know.

02:32:18 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 1:

So you're bringing, or a guy's going with you, huh?

02:32:22 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Do we know this guy, or are we just meeting this guy?

02:32:26 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 3:

My mom knows this person, but I don't want her to know who I'm going, that I'm going to be there with this person.

02:32:32 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 4:

Can you just share your location with one person that you trust, please?

02:32:36 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 3:

Good point. No, there's an emergency contact hidden away just in case something happens. I have all that covered. Thank you, babe.

02:32:44 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 1:

What is it that your mom doesn't like about this guy, the reason why you're not letting anybody know?

02:32:49 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't. It's not that she doesn't like him. She just knows our situation, and she doesn't like that I would be going with him. She would prefer that I would be, like, going with friends or something. That's the only way that I could get her to watch my son and my puppy.

02:33:02 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 1:

Is he a bad guy?

02:33:03 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 3:

No, not at all. What's wrong with him? Nothing's wrong with him.

02:33:08 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 1:

What has he done to you in the past that has made your family and friends not like him?

02:33:13 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 3:

It's actually just kind of new, and, like, my family can be just very judgmental.

02:33:17 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So it's not that he's bad yet. They just think he's bad because he's new.

02:33:23 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I think that's what they would think.

02:33:25 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, you behave yourself. Like Megan said, who is it, your friend that you're sharing it with?

02:33:30 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 4:

It's a sneaky link. A sneaky link. Girl, what are you doing? Girl, I'm judging your choices now, and it's because I care. Girl, what are you doing?

02:33:42 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 3:

No, it's someone that I've known for quite a while, and we've just stepped up our relationship to more than just friends.

02:33:49 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay, but does the sneaky link know who your parents are? Because God forbid something happens. How is the sneaky link going to tell mom? No, she knows who he is, too. She knows who he is.

02:34:02 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 1:

What's a sneaky link? What is that? I don't know what it is.

02:34:04 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

You're a little side guy. Go have a little bit of fun. See you later.

02:34:09 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:34:10 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 4:

I'm a little bit lonely. How are you doing?

02:34:12 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 1:

You up? Correct. I thought it was a service that does it for you.

02:34:15 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 2:

That's all you had to say.

02:34:16 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 1:

And then everyone's like, oh, yeah, we get it. Are you packing a lot of sexy things for him to see you in?

02:34:22 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 3:

A few, no doubt.

02:34:23 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 1:

You behave yourself. You check in with us. You're going away this weekend. You'll be back on Monday or by Monday?

02:34:31 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I will. I'm not going to behave myself, but I am going to be safe.

02:34:34 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 1:

Give Lydia your number so that we can call on you, okay?

02:34:38 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 3:

All right, no problem.

02:34:38 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 1:

Or Lydia, maybe if you can befriend her. Lydia's our phone screener. befriend her and see if she'll share her location with you so that we don't she's the best yeah she's awesome all right hang on one second here you're saying like the sneaky link and I'm like what is a sneaky link what's the song

02:35:30 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 4:

02:35:58 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

Every news station has the same thing scrolling at the bottom of their screens today The countdown to the coronation May 6th, that's Saturday, is the big day The coronation of King Charles III I thought people here wouldn't care about it that much Well, I mean, apparently we do It's everywhere

02:36:12 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 3:

It's also very rare that we get to see something like this

02:36:16 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 4:

A coronation, right Yeah, absolutely

02:36:17 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 3:

More than 1 million people are expected to line the streets of London, but only 2,000 special guests will be inside Westminster Abbey Saturday for the event. Prince Harry will be there, but his attendance will be brief.

02:36:31 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 5:

Maybe even just 24 hours in the UK as he flies in, attends that coronation ceremony, skips everything else afterwards and gets on a plane straight back to L.A. That just sounds like, honestly, it's going to be tiring.

02:36:44 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, he really is going to be in and out. The ceremony is expected to start at 11 o'clock a.m., 11 a.m. London time. It's going to last for around two hours. And then truly, Harry is going to hop on a plane and go right back home to L.A. to be home in time for Archie's fourth birthday, which coincides with Saturday's coronation festivities.

02:37:06 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 6:

I just don't know, man. I'm telling you, it's exhausting to fly overseas like that and then come right back.

02:37:12 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, and word on the street is he will not even be speaking to his dad or his brother at all during that time.

02:37:18 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 6:

That's crazy. Yeah.

02:37:20 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 4:

The Philadelphia Eagles sent a 2025 fourth-round pick and their seventh-round pick in this year's NFL draft to our Detroit Lions in exchange for running back DeAndre Swift and Detroit's 2023. I already said that seventh-round pick. This was during the draft on Saturday. The Lions were expected to try and trade Swift after drafting Jameer Gibbs with the number 12 overall pick on Thursday night. We also signed running back David Montgomery to a three-year deal worth $18 million this offseason. So is the draft done? I obviously wasn't watching, but it is done.

02:37:56 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it ended on Saturday, all seven rounds. The interesting thing with this trade is it's kind of like saying, all right, this guy wasn't good enough. It was a wasted trade pick, and it looks like it was a wasted trade pick. I kind of like their draft, though. Their second day of the draft, this quarterback that they ended up getting, who they say is like 25 years old, so he's one of the older quarterbacks that was drafted. If this guy didn't injure himself last year, he probably would have been the Heisman Trophy winner and would have gone in the first round.

02:38:24 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 4:

Is that Hendon Hooker? Yes. Is that what you're talking about?

02:38:26 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. They say he's like super fast, super athletic, and could be the future of the Detroit Lions.

02:38:32 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 4:

The Australian fashion designer who created a line of clothing called Katy Perry, K-A-T-I-E, has won a trademark case against Katy Perry, the singer, K-A-T-Y, by the way. Designer Katy Taylor, who was born Katy Perry, registered the trademark for her label way back in 2008, the year that Katy Perry, the singer, whose real name is Katherine Hudson, had some of her first hits, like I Kissed a Girl. Katie the singer initially fought the registration of that fashion brand in Australia but later dropped her opposition. The designer says in the meantime she was bullied and trolled by Katy Perry the singer's fans throughout this legal drama which actually continued into 2019 off and on for various reasons. An Australian federal judge said this is a tale of two women, two teenage dreams and one name. I always love when they try to be creative. She said Katy Perry, the singer, doesn't owe Katy Perry the designer compensation because the name was used in good faith. And lastly, director James Gunn said this weekend's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will definitely be the last for the Guardians.

02:39:42 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 1:

It is. It's definitely the end. You will never see these Guardians together again. I mean, maybe after lunch or we'll come over and play some Pinnacle or something. I don't know how to play Pinnacle, but something like that. maybe we'll hang out like that but it's definitely the last time you'll see them together on screen. Star Lord

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

himself Chris Pratt also doing

02:40:00 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 2:

interviews talking about the first actor being the first actor to drop an f-bomb in a marvel movie

02:40:05 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 1:

no i'm never trying to make history i'm just trying to make people laugh and usually the people i'm trying to make laugh are behind the monitor and oftentimes if you're going to drop an f-bomb you know it's not going to make the cut but you're just doing it to make people laugh which is also an indication to let them know that you're probably done with the scene like we've beat this thing to death so i'm going to start dropping f-bomb so you say cut let's move on but guess what they put it in the movie take that sam jackson for sure this will knock super mario

02:40:25 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 2:

brothers off that top spot right oh yeah yeah oh definitely because it was number one at the box for the fourth weekend in a row.

02:40:30 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 3:

And I think it's the kickoff to summer movies that's coming out. Even though Mario Brothers was such a big one, it's not considered a summer movie because it came out last month.

And the forecast for today calls for how much snow?

02:41:32 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 5:

14 inches. Oh my gosh. So you were just talking about Marquette and that's about 45 miles west of here. My drive to work was absolutely horrendous. I drive a Hummer H3 and I was going 30 miles an hour We're in four-wheel drive, and it was pulling me sideways.

02:41:55 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez.

02:41:57 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 5:

All the snowplow guys are contract-like, and their contracts are up for the— I mean, their season's technically over, but so there was no plows out. No, nothing. There was probably six-plus inches of that wet, nasty slush. They're telling people not to go anywhere, but I work in health care, so I have to go.

02:42:18 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 3:

Misty, I feel like we should do a contest for all of the listeners that check us out on the iHeartRadio app up in northern Michigan, and we should send you down south to Canton, Michigan, to stay in a hotel where it's warmer and there's no snow. Right? Yeah. You get to go south to beautiful Monroe.

02:43:30 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 4:

My daughter is saying hi.

02:43:32 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hi. Hi. What's your name, honey?

02:43:36 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 4:

02:43:39 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 3:

Lotus, is that what you said?

02:43:40 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 4:

Yep, Lotus. Lotus, like the flower. Hi, Lotus.

02:43:43 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 3:

Lotus, here's the story, Lotus. Mommy's going to need you to be very quiet on May the 13th because she's going to have what's called a headache.

02:43:58 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 3:

What did you say? What is mommy's what?

02:44:01 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 4:

No, she said mommy's naughty. It is naughty kids' night. Naughty kids' night. I love it.

02:44:07 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 3:

Hang on the phone. Thank you. I love that kid.

02:44:11 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, what did I just do?

02:44:15 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what I just hit. I was hitting the wrong button. I don't know where that came from, but it was supposed to be this. We'll be right back. This show would have sounded good if I did this.

02:44:22 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 6:

You're damn right.

02:44:24 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 4:

Need your bills paid?

02:44:26 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 6:

We'll give you a shot at $1,000 in just a few minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:44:31 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show. Can you guess which member of the show got kicked out of a club this weekend? Well I'm going to say that it's got to be Either KP or Lydia Because I think they might be the only ones That are hanging out in clubs You're not hanging out in clubs are you Shannon I have not hung out in a club in a while It's been a long time I think the last club What's the club in Novi we used to do Friday nights with Ashley

02:44:56 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 2:

29 night club

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

That's the last

02:45:00 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 2:

might be the last time i've been in a club although i would think i might have been in a vegas club like in the last uh couple years i made poor choices at 29 one night yeah that was that was actually a fun night friday nights at 29 we need to get back on the club scene and get the stations out at club so we can hang out there again

02:45:17 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 4:

but lydia you were in a new york city club i was yeah so me and my um best friends went to a club in new york where we were at this past saturday and um well we wanted to take a breather so the club was downstairs and we took a walk up the stairs and we were just hanging out in the lobby where we met some other girls who are coincidentally from detroit as well and as we were all talking and having a good time the bouncer walks over and he was like can you guys keep your voices down or you can go back downstairs and my friend looked at him keep your voices down at a club yeah but we were in the lobby i don't know what his deal was but we were in new york so i'm not going to question anything a bouncer says there my friend takes a look at him and she goes why don't you be quiet or you go downstairs the look on his face was like he was ready to just rile up on her because he looks at her and he goes get the f out of here and she starts laughing She's like, you're joking. He's like, nope, out of here. And I'm looking at him with these puppy dog eyes because I didn't do anything wrong. Why me?

02:46:23 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 2:

Did he throw you guys out legitimately, like throw you guys out?

02:46:26 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. He moved his hands up against our backs but didn't touch us. And he was just like, you know, it was like the light.

02:46:32 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 2:

And showing you the door.

02:46:34 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 4:

Yep. And he pushed us right out. And they closed the double doors right behind us. It felt like, you know, when you're actually seeing a movie of somebody getting kicked out of a club.

02:46:43 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 2:

First off, Shannon brings up a really interesting point. What was he trying to keep you to be quiet from? You're in a club, or was it the pre-crazy club noise, you know, the music and DJs and all the rest of that stuff?

02:46:56 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

I think it's also seeing or hearing a group of girls going, ha, ha, ha, ha, like the whole time. Like, I feel like he's just ready to go home. At that point, it was already 1.30. The club was going to close.

02:47:06 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 3:

Was it in, like, the basement of a hotel or something? No. Is that why he was asking you to be quiet? No. No. That's so weird.

02:47:11 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 2:

So it wasn't like one of those fancy, what the hell are they called? Like a speakeasy or something.

02:47:18 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 4:

No, it wasn't anything like that. I don't know why I don't believe you. Why?

02:47:23 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 3:

There's got to be something more. What are you thinking they did?

02:47:27 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I'm wondering if you guys were already blitzed. No, I wasn't blitzed. She really wasn't blitzed either. But she is a loud talker. And the group of girls that we were with had to be drunk. So I think it was more of them, but it was the commentary that my friend made. Right, just the talking back. Upset him, yeah.

02:47:46 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing is that I didn't think girls ever got kicked out of clubs.

02:47:49 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 3:

I've been kicked out of a club. Really? Yes. Oh, my God. I've told this story before. If you've ever been to Key West, Florida, you know the place I'm talking about. It's called Sloppy Joes. It's, like, famous. And I was, the guy that I was there with was picking me up and spinning me around, and my high heels were hitting people on the dance floor. And they gave us a warning to stop doing it. And I think we, well, I know, we kept doing it. And so same thing. They ushered us just right out the front door. And that was it. We weren't allowed back.

02:48:18 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 2:

They basically told you that you could not be spinning around.

02:48:21 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 3:

We were being annoying. By the way. I mean, my high heels were literally hitting people. I get it.

02:48:26 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

I kind of understand that.

02:48:27 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 3:

I deserved it. Yes. But it got me kicked out.

02:48:32 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. Is there anybody, are there any other girls that are listening to the show, women that listening to the show who have ever been kicked out of a club and what's the craziest reason why you got kicked out of a club 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number or text 95500 like i'm thinking if you're a girl you can't get kicked out of a club because all you do is just flirt because most of the guy most of the bouncers or the security people are men they're You're not, you know, women I could see kicking women out of a club. I don't see a guy kicking a woman out of a club unless they're so drunk that they're afraid you're going to hurt yourself in there. Your name is, pronounce it for me, it's spelled phonetically Louie?

02:49:17 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes, Louie.

02:49:18 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 2:

Louie. What's up, Louie?

02:49:22 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

Nothing much. We went a night out a couple months ago, and we got me and my brother going to the bathroom, and we were talking, apparently loud. And the guy came in, he was like, do you guys talk loud? You need to lower it, oh, I'll kick you guys out. I'm like, seriously? He's like, yeah, seriously. And we continued talking, and it was the same thing, and he kicked us out.

02:49:50 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 2:

Really? Really? So you can get kicked out of the club for being too loud?

02:49:54 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm being too loud. Or maybe drunk loud?

02:49:57 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 2:

Ah, that's what it is. Mm-hmm. That's it. That's what I said. Like obnoxiously drunk loud. Yeah. What's up, Nicole?

02:50:07 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Me and my sister, we were like club hopping, you know, and we got up to this one bar and we tried to walk in and they were like, no, you can't come in.

02:50:20 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think that they didn't want you guys in there? Did you guys look in trouble?

02:50:23 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 5:

I mean, my, no, my sister, she was kind of just like a little bit, a little bit messed up and she tripped while she was walking up. So I think that's why they were like, no. Oh yeah. She like tripped as she was walking in.

02:50:36 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 2:

So she was like, no.

02:50:38 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, they figured you guys were already drunk beyond intoxicated and didn't want you. I wasn't, I was, I was so mad at her. I was like, uh, no, Rachel, like, come on, keep yourself together. and she's just like, oh, no.

02:50:53 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 2:

That I understand because then they get –

02:50:57 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 4:

They don't want you barfing.

02:50:58 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. They don't want you causing problems. They also – if you get really – if she gets really bad, it doesn't reflect on the clubs that you were at before or the bars you were drinking at before. It reflects on where you were just at because they can say, that's where you got bad. Mike, what's happening? We're talking about how Lydia from our show got kicked out of the club and we're getting a bunch of texts from women that say that they've been kicked out of clubs before. I never knew that that could happen. What's up?

02:51:25 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, actually, conveniently, I was at a club, and it was a country club in the U.S., and my friends and I had a whole limo party, a whole thing going on, and sure enough, one of my buddies told me, hey, yo, try dancing on the table. Let's see the Lucky Shuffle, and all of a sudden, I jumped up on the table, and I started dancing on the table, And sure enough, like four guys came over and just kind of dragged me out of there.

02:51:51 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you were at a country club. Obviously, you're getting kicked out.

02:51:56 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I was on the table.

02:51:58 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's funny. A girl, but a girl could get on the table and start dancing and they would just ask her to get down. Guys, you're out of here.

02:52:06 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 3:

They completely get out of proportion.

02:52:08 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. I'm telling you, girls would do that all the time. like where you'd get up on like the decorative places there like to you know the platforms and start dancing at a country club no at any kind of club well he said he was at a country club but in a country club i've seen that before i remember going to the wild west which was a place in arizona and you the girls are like the girls could do anything there yeah they can get away with it

02:52:31 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 4:

i was at a bachelorette party in miami a few years ago and jumped off of the back of a booth and tried to make it into a champagne bucket that i it didn't get me kicked out but i did sprain my ankle

02:52:40 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 2:

really badly yeah but it did fracture your ankle which was not good uh but i made it justin what

02:52:46 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 7:

bar in grand rapids did you get kicked out of i called it the bob right just right downtown yep i know it well yeah it was like uh this was so many years ago but it was like a 21st birthday party or like it was a there's a ton of us we rented a party bus we went down we're from uh north side of muskegon right and i'm still sober i'm walking down the stairs dude grabs me and says i'm too drunk walks me outside well there's 20 other people inside i was out there for hours

02:53:13 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 2:

just sitting there oh no were you drunk or was he did he just oh we just got there it was crowded

02:53:19 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 7:

and it may have looked like i slipped but i mean i might have had two beers on the party bus on the way there it's only like a 30 minute drive you know what i mean you know the problem is there

02:53:29 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 2:

are some people that are just not good walkers you're one of them and then there are those people that always look like they're drunk, even if it's 9 o'clock in the morning. Crystal, where did you get kicked out of?

02:53:41 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 6:

I got kicked out of Clutch Cardos. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

02:53:44 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 2:

The memories of Clutch Cardos.

02:53:46 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 6:

The legendary.

02:53:47 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 4:

What did you do?

02:53:49 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 6:

We got a party bus, and I didn't know the people. I just went with my boyfriend and his friends, and we were dancing, having a good time. All of a sudden, this girl just walks up to me, taps me on the shoulder, and sucker punches me in the face.

02:54:01 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

02:54:02 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 6:

So I followed her. She ran upstairs. I followed her. Somehow she stole my high-heeled shoe. She was threatening to throw it over the stage. And, like, we just, everybody started brawling. And we just, like, there was, like, ten of us just started fighting upstairs. And all of us got kicked out.

02:54:16 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Wretched-ass balcony biatches. Yeah. Bad.

02:54:21 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 6:

She chipped my tooth. She chipped my tooth.

02:54:24 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 2:

She chipped your tooth, of all things.

02:54:26 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 6:

Yes. And I didn't do anything wrong. She just walked up to me, tapped me on the shoulder, and punched me. You had to do something for her to do that. No, I swear to God, I did not. Because you're about to be dripping in bitches?

02:54:40 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Well, thank you so much for the call. I appreciate it.

02:54:44 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you guys have a great day.

02:54:45 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Clutch Cargos. For some reason, anytime I drive by Clutch Cargos, which is now like a shelter or something, or a church, all I think of is Sean Kingston, that artist. Because for some reason, that was when Sean Kingston was popular.

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 1:

Shawn Kingston. Beautiful girls. That's it. Caitlin, what's up?

02:55:07 - 02:55:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hey, what's up?

02:55:08 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

02:55:10 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so when I was 20, so this was like eight years ago, there's a place in winter called Tequila Bob's, and it was only a toonie. It was only a toonie for a shot of tequila, so it was probably about five tequilas and then four for me, and they kicked me out for falling on the dance floor.

02:55:28 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 1:

Would you go see Big Boy or Stick or Buckhead? Would you ever go see our old night guys there at Tequila Bob's?

02:55:36 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't. You know what? I remember some of those nights at Tequila Bob's. My friends definitely did a couple weekends and Wednesday before we were 21. I love Canada because you have the most ridiculous names for your money. I was, like, feeling like I was paying a quarter for a tequila shot. So, of course, I did one too many. But, yeah. Here's the thing.

02:55:58 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 1:

You can't kick a girl out of a place when you're charging a quarter for a tequila shot.

02:56:04 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 2:

Amen.

02:56:05 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 1:

You're basically asking for it to happen, right? Oh, my gosh.

02:56:11 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 2:

They're like, oh, we got her. She's fine. We'll give her some water. And they were like, no, she gots to go. And I saw it one time, and they were just like, no, go.

02:56:19 - 02:56:43 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that was quote unquote. She's gots to go. She's gots to go.

02:56:46 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, man. I appreciate it.

02:56:48 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 1:

You know what? A guy like you should never have a problem going on a date and having her call you back. but you've had that?

02:56:57 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, man. I don't know, man. It's just, it's really strange. You know, we had a good time. We went out to eat, you know, and then we had some drinks, went to this little place to listen to some music. And, I mean, everything was going well. And then, next thing you know, I can't get a call back from her or a text back. I mean, she's ghosted me.

02:57:19 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 6:

We always gotta ask. It's strange. How did the date end? Was there a kiss? Were there plans for a second date?

02:57:25 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what? It ended kind of, like, awkward, you know? It was just really weird. I mean, it was just like, hey, you know, well, we ended with a hug. You know, I didn't really try to go for the kiss, you know, right?

02:57:40 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's respectful.

02:57:41 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 4:

Feel it from her, yeah.

02:57:42 - 02:57:44 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever not gotten a call back?

02:57:46 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I've always gotten a call back, man. I mean, you know, you've seen my Facebook. I mean, I look good.

02:57:52 - 02:58:01 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I'm going to find out for you right now Why you're not getting a call back What's the story? Sonia's on with us right now Is it Sonia or Sonia?

02:58:03 - 02:58:03 | Unknown:

Sonia

02:58:03 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

Sonia Sonia Hi Sonia You okay with your voice on the radio?

02:58:06 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 4:

Well I mean it depends on how you want to say it Sonia, Sonia I mean it's

02:58:09 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 1:

Well it's up to her She just said Sonia So I'm going to say it the way that she wants me to say it Sonia

02:58:13 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 4:

It's both to me right now Sonia

02:58:16 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 1:

You okay with your voice on the radio?

02:58:20 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure

02:58:21 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 1:

Say hello to Wendell again Wendell has never had this happen to him before, Sonia. He's never had a woman not call him back after going on a date. So what's the story? Why is it that you're not calling him back? Why are you the first?

02:58:46 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 3:

That's actually very surprising that he hasn't had it happen yet. Wait, is that one? I don't want to know. Anyways, yeah, he was cool. You know, he was great in the beginning. We were having a good time having drinks, and I don't think, I don't even know if you know why I didn't call you. Yeah, so do you remember? Yeah, I want to know. Do you remember, like, dropping your phone at one point and, you know, reaching under the table to grab it? Yeah. So when you did that, I got a little scared and freaked out because I noticed that you were wearing women's underwear, a thong specifically. Oh, no. Wait a second.

02:59:31 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 1:

He was wearing a thong. He was wearing.

02:59:34 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 3:

No, literally, I couldn't believe you either. No, that's exactly what I said. He was wearing a thong, a green, sparkly one, like more thongish than anything I've ever worn before.

02:59:45 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if you can explain that Real quick, let Wendell explain this Well, I want to make sure he's comfortable with the information being disclosed

03:00:00 - 03:00:06 | Speaker 4:

That's kind of, I mean, this is, you know, that has nothing to do with how I'm going to be in a relationship. You know what I mean?

03:00:07 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 2:

Is that just your, your, is that your preference for underwear?

03:00:12 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not, it's not like it's a preference. I mean, I, you know, I used to, you know, bodybuild and all that. And it really just helps, you know, me move freely. It helps keep things in place. So I do, you know, I wear those from time to time.

03:00:26 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 2:

Is that a thing for bodybuilders? is that a thing for bodybuilders I did not know that

03:00:34 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 4:

yes yes I mean if you see if you watch it in some of the competitions and all that you do wear that it helps

03:00:41 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

so it's like is it briefs or is it a thong she said thong

03:00:49 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 4:

yeah it's a thong I rarely wear briefs but I mean well I didn't have I have a lot of different pair, and those are the only clean ones that I had at the time, so that's why I have some fun pair.

03:01:07 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I mean, that's why people are wearing it for entertainment, not for comfortability.

03:01:12 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but you're acting like you've never been down to the last pair.

03:01:16 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But wait, but I don't know. My last pair are actually Christmas. I kind of agree with her.

03:01:21 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 2:

That would have put me, that would have threw me off big time.

03:01:24 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 1:

So, Wendell, is it a, is it a, and if you're not comfortable talking about this, obviously you can tell us, but is it a man thong? Like, is it a thong that you, that, like you said, bodybuilders wear? Is it something that you're not, because she made it seem like you were wearing a woman's underwear.

03:01:44 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, it was, it was, it's a man thong.

03:01:47 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay. That doesn't matter. I don't know.

03:01:49 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 4:

I think the color that I had on that day, I don't even remember. It was, you know, I danced a few times. Fun. There you go.

03:02:01 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 2:

So that was my question for Sonia.

03:02:04 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 4:

I didn't want to talk about that right now. That's not a first date thing. Which is fair.

03:02:10 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 2:

But what was more off-putting to you, Sonia? Was it the fact that he was wearing the thong? or was it the fact that in your head you were thinking that that's something that he does on the side?

03:02:23 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the second one. I mean, if he would have kind of explained that he was just for athletic purposes, that's different. But to me, it was just like a hidden secret, you know. But how was he? I don't know.

03:02:37 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

How was he supposed to explain that if you didn't bring it up with him?

03:02:39 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 5:

like when i meet you guys on the you know on dating websites when i see weird things the first thing i do is just run i just didn't know how to say that and still be out in public with him and what he would do after the fact you know what i mean i just for my own safety i just kind of like remove myself from the situation and oh i was waiting for this i mean you could have you

03:03:03 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 4:

could have texted me back or called me but you could have you could have said hey listen you You know, I don't really like, you know, the green thong. Whatever it was, you know, I just feel that, you know, we had a good time. You know, I talked about all the athletics and stuff that I played, you know.

03:03:19 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Wait, is it athletics or are you a male performer? Like, are you either a stripper or a male?

03:03:31 - 03:03:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, on my Facebook, you found it and everything.

03:03:35 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 1:

I looked at it. I mean, I said it. This guy's a good-looking guy. Like, let me tell you this. There's not a shirt that this man wears that's loose. I've not seen one on your entire page. Hold on a second. Jennifer wants to comment. Jennifer, it's Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

03:03:49 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I would just like to let this gentleman know that we love and respect a king that is comfortable in his masculinity. Yes. Yes, ma'am. Yes. And, you know, my husband wears ladies' underwear, too. And he says that they, like, hold and support everything.

03:04:07 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. No, real quick. He says he's not wearing ladies' underwear. These are man thongs. He's not wearing ladies' underwear.

03:04:13 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 6:

Well, yeah, he's got some man thongs, too. And they do come in, like, fun prints or, like, shimmery prints. But sometimes, you know, Walmart doesn't carry men's thongs, and neither does Target.

03:04:26 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I got these from Amazon. So I get a lot of mine from Amazon.

03:04:30 - 03:04:39 | Speaker 3:

Also, we talk about men and their gross underwear all the time. Let's be honest, guys. Most of your boxers have holes in them. I just respect a man with clean, nice underwear on. Right.

03:04:40 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I mean, but these ones, and these ones were clean because he said it was his last pair. And they were green and sparkly. Second date update. If you want to see what he looks like, we're begging him to let us get a picture to post. So he said no earlier, but I told KP and Lydia that I will personally call him to try to.

03:05:00 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 5:

That'd be weird, by the way. Hi, this is Mojo. Can you send us a picture of yourself in your thong? You don't believe some of the things that we have to do. He's cute. He's very cute. Give it up, by the way. Everybody, make sure that you give it up, and if you see anybody on Bumble by the name of Wendell, that you give it up to him, too. You know him.

03:05:21 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 1:

You know him.

03:05:22 - 03:05:27 | Speaker 5:

He's a nice guy. If you missed any port of the show, did I say port of the show?

03:05:28 - 03:05:38 | Speaker 1:

Portion? Honest to God, my favorite made-up word from today was astral. That one? You were picking your astral, which we still don't know what you were picking.

03:05:38 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 5:

I was trying to say nostril, but it was a little bit further down. Actually, that one, and then what was Lydia's saying that her...

03:05:45 - 03:05:46 | Speaker 1:

Her heart was in her...

03:05:46 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 5:

Her ass. Yeah, her heart was in her ass. If you missed any portion of today's show, please go to check it out right now. It's available anywhere you get podcasts. Hopefully the iHeartRadio app But we're on Spotify, we're on Apple We're on anything Okay, just search Mojo in the morning
