00:03:25 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show the furthest thing from anything met gala okay as far as dress is concerned on i think all of us today i was looking around to see if anybody was all kind of crazy dressed up but no you know what there's no theme for our outfits today they i think that uh we could actually do the whole little nas x thing right and just spray paint on wouldn't that be nice yeah sure to me honestly That would be a very nice Way to go out, you know Or dress up like Entirely like a cat Yeah As Jared Leto did That actually You know what If you wanted to like Give me a costume That I had to wear And that's all I had to wear Did Jared Leto get out Of that thing afterwards I just saw the pictures He did, okay And then what he had Something nice that he was Wearing afterwards

00:04:39 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

Like a big giant cape And a black

00:04:41 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 7:

Because I was going to say If you have that thing On the whole time Aren't you sweating

00:04:45 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 2:

He was When he took it off He literally wiped his forehead It was really gross.

00:04:50 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Oh, my gosh. All right. Well, I'm going to tell you this right now. I'm not going to poo-poo or rain on the parade.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 1:

of all the people that love that Met Gala thing, but we will talk about it this morning and I'll be here the whole time with my mouth shut. I won't say anything. I'll just ask inquisitive questions. That's all I will do. You're not into the Met Gala Monday? No. But I did think Dua Lipa looked hot. I thought that was gorgeous.

00:05:20 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely gorgeous. Wasn't my favorite outfit. And you can't tell me she didn't look like one of the Skylar sisters from Han Solo. Oh my gosh, yes.

00:05:27 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

That's hysterical. And I will say this that that cockroach that was running across the red carpet was great did you see that at all a swirly carpet no i didn't there was a they in new york city fashion the only the way that new york city can go a rat or a cockroach will have to pair and there was a cockroach that came out and a photographer was about to stomp on it with his foot but then realized he would probably have been canceled if that happened they would have had protesters out in front if he would have uh can we by the way can we kill cockroaches are cockroaches okay to kill as far as uh living breathing things or do they offer us any good at all somebody stepped on it so yes last night yeah but all right shannon with more on that coming up in the dirty coming up here in just a matter of moments and uh of course i'm sure we'll talk about it through the morning it is mojo in the morning so you're telling us off the air that lucy has a boyfriend and it's caused a little bit of controversy between you and her dad. Yeah. So Lucy is my third grader. She just turned

00:06:31 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 2:

nine. And I think I've said this before to you guys. She's been quote unquote dating the same little boy for like two and a half years since first grade. Okay. This is really big. Everybody in the school knew this. His mom and dad knew this. I knew this. Well, recently we had our own Scandaval, she broke up with him and started dating somebody else.

00:06:55 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 1:

Did that make Shannon's dirty on the 30?

00:06:58 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

It didn't, but it is right now. And so now she's, now she's quote unquote dating this, another little adorable boy. She moved on so fast. She did, like the next day. Okay, can I ask a question? She asked another boy out at recess.

00:07:11 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Before you get into this, because I know this is going to be, this is a good topic that we need listeners to weigh in on. when you call it dating what is dating when you are it means you say she's nine it means you say

00:07:24 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 2:

hi to each other on the playground at recess that's essentially what it means okay okay and everybody knows that you're with that person so I think this is harmless right because obviously they're not doing anything they're not going anywhere together it's just like they have little crushes on each other well I think my ex-husband Andrew is having a small heart attack I don't think i know he's having a small heart attack about this um because he is just not cool with this at all and so he and i have gone back and forth about this and i said i feel like you need to calm down a little bit i said i can still remember the name of every little boy i had a crush on starting in first grade up until right now um and his argument was that's fine a crush is very different than actually saying you are boyfriend and girlfriend at nine years old so that is my question to you can lucy have a boyfriend or is that not appropriate for a

00:08:21 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

third grader uncle mojo would say this no i agree with i agree with andrew on this one here but i think it's because of i know what even little boys are thinking in their heads uh because i

00:08:35 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 2:

What are little boys at nine years old thinking in their heads?

00:08:39 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Tell me. You know what? They're thinking everything that every other little boy is probably thinking when he's a teenager, too. They think about that about girls or boys or whatever. So I'm telling you that they're thinking. I remember the whole recess dating type thing. Although when I was recess dating, you'd ask somebody out on a date or you'd ask somebody to be your boyfriend or girlfriend, and then you'd never talk to them ever again.

00:09:04 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 1:

That was usually the time that you'd never do it. But you're still thinking about it.

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Right. Right.

00:09:09 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So.

00:09:10 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 1:

But, no, I think it's harmless. I mean, they don't go anywhere, do they? They don't go to movies or anything like that. Do your kids go to co-ed parties? Like, do they do that?

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes. Birthday parties?

00:09:24 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 1:

So will the boys be at these parties if there's friends having parties?

00:09:27 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

She's actually going to this little boy's birthday party next weekend.

00:09:30 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Her boyfriend. Will she sit next to him, like, at the party? I don't know. Will it be?

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

It's at, like, a gymnastics place, so I don't think it's, like, a sit-down type of party.

00:09:40 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

But when you, like, have cake and pizza and stuff like that, do they, is it, will they hold hands at the party, you think?

00:09:47 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

They do not hold hands, no.

00:09:48 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 1:

You know that for a fact?

00:09:49 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I ask all the questions. I said, did you guys hug? And she said, well, he's given me a hug before. But she's like, Mom, I hug everybody. So. Hmm.

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 1:

Really? Tell us more. It'll be a race. Is she like, has the apple not fallen far from the tree?

00:10:10 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I hug everybody, whether I know you or I don't. Might be a little weird sometimes.

00:10:16 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember any of your... Me? No. Well, I know you said you do, but like Megan and KP, Lydia. I kind of remember. My first girlfriend ever was Lynn Avertowski.

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 7:

And how old were you?

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Got her last name and everything.

00:10:29 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 6:

Okay, we shouldn't ask you, because you were at a late start.

00:10:32 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 1:

Seventh grade, and she was the first to develop boobs.

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 6:

Man, I am shocked.

00:10:38 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 1:

But we did go to a movie together. Yes, we ended up...

00:10:44 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 7:

In seventh grade, your parents let you do that?

00:10:46 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

They didn't know.

00:10:47 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 7:

Or your sisters let you do that?

00:10:48 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 1:

This is the thing you got to be careful of. We went to... Actually, my mom was still alive at that time, and I remember this. My mom told my one sister, don't allow them to go to the movie unless you go to the movie with them. My sister didn't go to the movie with me. She went to the movie next door, but left me in the movie theater and thought I was in there with a bunch of boys and I was in there with Lynn. But it was very awkward from that moment on, because guess what? We didn't even talk to each other, even at the movie. But how about you guys? Did you have boyfriends?

00:11:15 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 5:

If my book makes the rules, Lucy Grace is late to this, because I had my first boyfriend and my first real kiss where I sent to the principal's office for getting in trouble in first grade. First grade. Should I say his name? I've never said it before. Yes. Well, because he still lives here. His name was Tony Schepler, and he gave me an octopus beanie baby in the hallway. Oh, my God. It was serious. It had sequins on it, and it sparkled, and I loved it. And I kissed him in the hallway, and then we were sent down to, oh, my God, Mr. Wiltsey's office, where we got scolded because we don't do that in first grade. That's for big grownups, not little kids. And I have vivid memories of getting yelled at for kissing Tony Scheffler.

00:12:02 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 2:

I've got my own trauma. I had a guy I had a crush on. And I said, I had this huge chocolate bar my mom had packed for lunch. And I said to him, hey, I'll give you this chocolate bar if you'd be my boyfriend. And he said, no. What? Really? What kind of chocolate bar was it? It does make all the difference. Hershey's milk chocolate. And he was like, he said, he came back later too. And he tried to change his mind. And I was like, mm.

00:12:25 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. Stand tall on that one. You get only one chance. I like that, though, using bribery of food. If that were the case, I would have said yes to every girl. They would have shared their food with me. Steven, what do you think about this, about Shannon's daughter having a boyfriend?

00:12:44 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

I can't let that go. I got three girls, and one of them is 18, and she can't have a boyfriend until I die. I ain't letting nobody take her down the aisle.

00:12:55 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

So you agree with Lucy's dad that, you know, she's too young for this?

00:13:00 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's definitely too young. I wouldn't say until at least she's old enough. 30?

00:13:06 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 7:

He said 30.

00:13:07 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:13:08 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 7:

I said, okay, that's very realistic.

00:13:10 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

Steven, the interesting thing is when Shannon said, well, what are little boys thinking of? Come on, we all know what little boys are thinking of, right?

00:13:17 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Every boy is thinking about the same thing from when they know what it is.

00:13:23 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

They were thinking about Mario Kart and DS and Game Boy when I was playing soccer at recess.

00:13:29 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 7:

And I like boobies.

00:13:31 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:13:32 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 3:

Little boys would be looking at girls in dresses when they were in the first grade.

00:13:38 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:13:38 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 5:

No. Dirty rats. No.

00:13:41 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Steven. Dad of three, Steven, there. Dirty rats. Angela?

00:13:47 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:13:48 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Thoughts on this? Hi.

00:13:50 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 4:

um i agree with the girls i don't see any harm in it my i'm dating my kindergarten crush and when i was in kindergarten he was actually dating quote dating my best friend so and they

00:14:03 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 7:

broke up in third grade how wild is that she's dating that is a great story that is amazing

00:14:08 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 4:

i mean talk about full circle yeah it's pretty crazy wait did you yeah go ahead was that breaking girl code at that point once you started dating as adults no uh because we stopped being friends in like middle school okay we're just like acquaintances now it's wild to think this you

00:14:26 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 1:

know like when you see like your kids with a friend or you know and then you go i wonder what will happen years from now you know well it was so funny because you know she had her little

00:14:35 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 7:

music concert that i went to last week right and i said oh can i go over and i actually am really good good friends with this little boy's mom but i said can i go over and introduce myself to him and she goes mom if you even go up and go near him and talk to him i will be so mad at you

00:14:50 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

i love it nikki what's up good morning i was just gonna say that honestly shannon i think that you are doing the right thing

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 7:

because even though she's nine, you know how we are. If dad says no or parents say no, we're still going to do whatever we're going to do.

00:15:08 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 2:

Especially Lucy Grace. I always thought it was if mom says no, dad says yes. Not the opposite of that one. I thought it was the opposite where mom was more of the discipline in the family. No? No? Not in your ears?

00:15:23 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 7:

No. I think it's definitely dad.

00:15:25 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 2:

Caitlin is a teacher, wants to make a comment on kids dating. at third grade. What's that?

00:15:33 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 8:

So any student that I have, because I work at elementary school, I always say, do you have a car or a job? Nope. Then you're not dating.

00:15:43 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Good rules. Wait, do the kids?

00:15:45 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 8:

A lot of adults are dating either. Yeah, well, that is true.

00:15:48 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but question. If you know two of the kids have crushes on each other, do you pay them up for activities?

00:15:55 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 8:

Oh, no. Because it's like, there's so much girl drama already. Like, the girl drama is heavy, and, like, we don't need that.

00:16:04 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 2:

So you keep them as far away as possible, huh?

00:16:07 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 8:

Far away as possible, yeah.

00:16:09 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Do you have kids that fight over each other?

00:16:12 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 8:

Yes.

00:16:13 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:16:14 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 8:

I, like, last year I had a huge, like, trio that was, like, all about trying to figure out who likes who. And I was like, guys, I just need to teach you some math.

00:16:26 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 2:

love it um jessica what's up it's mojo in the morning yeah i was telling kp that i don't think

00:16:34 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 7:

it's any problem for shannon's daughter to go out on a quote date because i don't think they're actually doing anything i think it's a lot of talk i was telling her that my um nine-year-old nephew has taught me more at 46 than i have ever known it is just it's mind-blowing what these kids to know today. He asked me, hey, do you know what 69 is? Oh, God. He's like, you were married. How don't you know this? Oh, my God. It's something new. How can you blow auntie's mind today? Somebody has an older sibling. Yeah.

00:17:11 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 2:

Wow. All right. Thank you for the call.

00:17:15 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 4:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events. And you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:23 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 2:

It was the year that Keeping Up with the Kardashians came to an end after 20 years on E! Kris Jenner was a little shook about that.

00:17:31 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 1:

It's almost like ripping off a Band-Aid. But we just wanted to tell you in person that we won't be going forward with filming the show anymore.

00:17:42 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 2:

J-Lo and Ben got back together in this year.

00:17:45 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't think anybody was more surprised than us. Yeah. No, but it is. No, seriously, though. I mean, that's just, would you ever have imagined that it comes full circle, it ends up like this? No, you never could imagine something like that could happen.

00:17:58 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 2:

And the big song from Justin Bieber. What year was this? We'll set you up with the prize. Good luck.

00:18:07 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 3:

What year did these things happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day.

00:18:19 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 2:

It was the year that Keeping Up with the Kardashians ended and Kris told her crew in a very emotional moment on the show.

00:18:32 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 1:

It's almost like ripping off a Band-Aid, but we just wanted to tell you in person that we won't be going forward with filming the show anymore.

00:18:40 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 2:

J-Lo and Ben got together in this year again.

00:18:43 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't think anybody was more surprised than us. Yeah.

00:18:45 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 2:

And Peaches was the big song. Alexis, what year was that? 2021. There you go. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:18:59 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 6:

Jennifer Lopez and Ben. I used to love Jennifer Werner and Ben together. And I was just looking that up not that long ago. It just popped up recently. I was like, no way.

00:19:10 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I know. And then you started hating J-Lo for that, right? You just kind of blame her for everything. It was Ben's fault, though. We're going to set you up with the prize. You're going to win some tickets to go to AEW Wrestling. Happened at Little Caesars Arena, so hang on the phone for just one second. Oh, wait a second. We got that? Yeah, that's it. That's the prize. I had an old winner sheet in here that was going to give you another prize that wasn't so good. All right, hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll get you set up. Have a great day, okay? You as well. Right now, I want to give you a word to text in to win Taylor tickets. What did we figure out yesterday? We're less than five weeks away. Text to win for Taylor Swift tickets. Text SWIFT to 95500. That's SWIFT to 95500.

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 4:

0-0 for a chance to win tickets. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:20:04 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:20:07 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 4:

A lot of stuff in this hour is Dirty on the 30. What do you got?

00:20:09 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, let's start with this. Nightly talk shows like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Fallon went dark immediately after writers agreed to strike last night. This has been looming for a while. It happened late night with Seth Meyers. The Daily Show also will be heavily affected here. While weekly shows like SNL, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Real Time with Bill Maher, they'll be similarly impacted. Though final decisions on those shows, what's going to happen, are expected to come later in the week. I know a lot of people were like, wait a second, we really wanted to see Pete Davidson, you know, coming back for his SNL return on Saturday. Is that going to happen? I don't know. I do know there are a number of possibilities for that. So a decision is set to be made closer to showtime if it's going to actually arrive.

00:21:01 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 4:

On a show like SNL or some of these shows like Kimmel and Bill Maher where the stars write a lot of their own jokes too, they don't want to cross a picket line. So they don't want to have it be a situation where they cross the line and start doing the shows. They're saying this could go on for a while, especially because a lot of those shows have so many reruns that they haven't run yet.

00:21:22 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but isn't the late night guys the best way to, if you get them on the writer's side and they won't do the shows, the networks will lose too much money. They'll have to come to an agreement, right?

00:21:32 - 00:22:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. By the way, did you see this stat? Did you hear that James Corden cost CBS like $50 million a year and made not even like $20 million in advertising? I'm not surprised. They said that it was a huge loss for CBS. So a lot of these networks are losing their asses right now because of streaming and because, you know, people aren't watching live television with advertisers. So it'd be interesting to see what they end up doing if they hold firm to stuff like this.

00:22:03 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 1:

Now, the last writer's strike was 2007, I believe. That lasted 100 days, right?

00:22:09 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:22:10 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 1:

And they said the L.A. economy lost over $2 billion because of that. Sophie Turner is asking for privacy after accidentally posting a photo of one of her daughters. The actress said yesterday she made a mistake by sharing a video of Willa, her two-year-old daughter, with Joe Jonas on her Instagram. So on her Instagram stories, she posted a message to fans that read, We have always advocated for our kids' right to privacy, so sharing this publicly was against anything that I stand for. Our children deserve the right to grow up out of the public eye, to learn and grow in private. And she said, if I were to post anything of our kids, please know it is unquestionably a mistake. I would greatly appreciate if anyone who has reposted on any other platform, please delete the video. Fans noticed over the weekend that Taylor Swift deleted, speaking of Instagram, a video that she had posted a while ago about her song Lavender Haze, which is about her relationship with Joe Alwyn and we now know. They're no longer together. This was part of that video.

00:23:15 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 2:

In the era of social media, and if the world finds out that you're in love with somebody, they're going to weigh in on it. Like, my relationship for six years, we've had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it. And so this song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.

00:23:33 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 1:

It's not there anymore. It's gone.

00:23:35 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 4:

Do we ever find out what happened in that relationship? It really never came out, did it?

00:23:39 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 1:

God, I've heard so many different things. Interesting. I mean, people thought that they got engaged and then she kind of didn't want to be engaged anymore. Yeah, I don't know. It looks like he's moved on already with a co-star of a project he's working on.

00:23:55 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, there you go.

00:23:57 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that your answer? You know, could be that too. Real quick, Kiana Reeves, did you know that he has a grunge band? If you didn't, he has a grunge band. It's called Dogstar and they're actually gearing up to release some new music for the first time in 23 years. The band has already released two albums. This was a while ago. They kind of called it quits in 2002. Keanu plays bass in the band, by the way. Well, as his career took off, interest in the band grew kind of behind the scenes and has continued to grow over the years. I know they reunited last summer. They created an Instagram for themselves. And since then, Dogstar has been posting some behind the scenes photos and videos of their time in the studio. So, yeah, new music coming very soon. I don't have an official date for you, but if you are a Keanu fan, I'll keep you updated. And Kim Kardashian had a very special person by her side at last night's Met Gala. Her daughter, North, made her debut at the event. The mom-daughter duo were swarmed by the paparazzi as they left the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City.

00:25:00 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 2:

They were definitely a hit on the carpet, as was Serena Williams, who debuted a baby bump to let the world know she's expecting baby number two. Model Karlie Kloss also confirming her pregnancy last night at the Met Gala. Some of the other highlights from last night, this year's theme, by the way, was Karl Lagerfeld, a line of beauty intended to honor the late designer who died in 2019. And if you don't know what the Met Gala is all about, by the way, it celebrates the opening of the Met's annual fashion exhibit. It's also a fundraiser and raises tons and tons of money for it. Lil Nas X, Mojo, you gave him a shout out earlier in the show. But, yeah, he showed up wearing a metallic thong and head to toe silver body paint encrusted with pearls and crystals. He finished off his outfit with a diamond encrusted mask with whiskers. He was one of kind of a number of cat-inspired looks on the carpet, including Doja Cat, who actually changed her face with the use of prosthetics. Jared Leto wore an entire cat costume. Janelle Monae was carrying a cat bag. But the cat thing, Karl Lagerfeld famously had a cat named Chupette, who clearly was very, very inspiring for a lot of the looks last night. Megan, who would you say was your best dressed?

00:26:17 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 1:

I would say Emily Ratajkowski was up there I agree I think Sydney Sweetie was one of the best of the night She's on my, Kendall Jenner Oh my god, Kendall Jenner And I don't even like her And she looked fabulous Agree, I actually think Kylie looked beautiful last night Yeah, but Kylie didn't go with the theme And to be fair, I don't think anybody has successfully done a Met Gala theme in quite a few years The Gilded Age was done really well by... Which was last year, right? Right. And that was Blake Lively when she patinaed on the runway as the Statue of Liberty. That killed it. The rest of the night was terrible. And if you go back, even camp was really bad. A lot of the past years have been really, really bad.

00:27:02 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Blake Lively, who everybody loves her at the Met Gala, she was not there last night. And she posted a photo earlier in the day of herself with a breast pump on her boobies to kind of tell everybody, I'm not coming this year.

00:27:13 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 1:

So this was the first year that everybody kind of followed the theme pretty well, and I didn't like when people left the theme. And Kylie looked stunning, but wasn't really on theme and kind of stuck out in a not good way for me.

00:27:27 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right. For all of today's Dirty, and you can see some of the looks from last night, by the way, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:27:35 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com. it's time for more mojo back to mojo in the morning

00:27:45 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

mojo on the morning show coming up 5 at 655 it's week number two of mojo's only fans last week i don't think was a very hard task although i will say this it gave us the ability to be able to meet some of our most fun listeners. And I ain't going to lie, but I thought we did a great job of picking the right person for the task of reading to the young kids out there. Misfit Jackie now, part of our Mojo in the Morning Misfit crew, is awesome. And she's forever going to be known as the misfit that read Everyone Poops. This week we're doing a different one. So a different task. It is time now to announce week two of Mojo's OnlyFans task to win cash. You just got to tell us how much money you would like to win. It's like OnlyFans where you get paid to do something. And remember, we're not going to make you like show us your feet or do something, you know, dirty. Okay.

00:28:57 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 2:

Actually, this is quite the opposite of dirty.

00:28:59 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes. This is, you know what? That's appropriate, Shannon. This is a clean task. Very clean. This week's task that we are going to offer up is because you're going to need it after the bad weather that we've had the last couple of weeks, we would like to buy you a car wash for your car, truck, whatever you drive. The only thing is you have to drive through the car wash with all of your windows down.

00:29:25 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes. This is my kid's absolute dream come true. They ask me to roll down all the windows. Do they really? Every single time we go through the car wash. If you've ever seen the movie Yes Day with Jennifer Garner, you know that that's one of the things the kids ask for in that movie is to go through the car wash with every single window down. So that is exactly what we're asking you to do here.

00:29:42 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 3:

Do you have to put the window lock on your car just to make sure that they don't do it by themselves?

00:29:45 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 2:

No, I trust them, which is really scary, actually. I've never thought about that.

00:29:49 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

That is very scary. I would not trust them. So here's what I'm going to throw out there to you. Are you willing to do this and for how much? You can call us, 844-MOJO-LIVE, or you can text.

00:30:00 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 1:

us at 95500 and Lydia will go through the texts and the calls and we'll maybe audition some of these people. Remember, if you're crazy enough to do something like this, if you're crazy enough to have your windows open and get your car all wet and do all this stuff and maybe give us a little bit of entertainment, which is, by the way, a lot less entertainment than Jackie had to do last week. Remember, Jackie was a full hour. What is a car wash? It takes you three minutes, something like that right yeah and it's funny because all i ever know is whenever i go through a car wash my friends always hate me because they always say that i call them up on the phone right before i'm going on the car wash and then they're they can't hear anything the entire time that we're in there

00:30:39 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 4:

by the way this is one of those car washes we're going to be specific here where you you have to like get your car on the track they tell you to put it in neutral yep and then hands off the wheel

00:30:49 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 1:

okay it's a fancy car wash yeah this isn't a car wash that's attached to a gas station that's one

00:30:54 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 4:

of those ones that doesn't really get your car clean this is water soap coming at you from all

00:30:59 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 1:

angles exactly matter of fact we might even buy the hot wax for the end oh and i've never splurged and the shiny seal coat as well as the the tire stuff tire shine yep exactly we're gonna we're gonna go big at this one we might buy the 20 wash are we rich no every time i get the luxurious car watch i'm like i am a rich woman megan not rich we just want more things spitting out at people oh that makes sense yeah so that every single one of those little nozzles is shooting out at you um again you can text 95500 just text only fans and how much money you would be wanting for this or you can call 844 mojo live we'll look for contestants this morning it's mojo in the

00:31:44 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 4:

Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:31:45 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 3:

5 at 6.55. Yo, 5 at 6.55. Go now.

00:31:50 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 1:

All right, coming up here on the Mojo on the Morning Show, War of the Roses. It's Tuesday edition, which is after 7.30. And we got concert tickets to give away. First, though, Aiden's going for his fourth win in a row. Aiden, your challenger this morning is coming to us from Toledo. And what's happening, Jack? How you doing, buddy?

00:32:10 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing well. How are you guys doing? Good luck to you, Aiden.

00:32:13 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 1:

We're fantastic. Yeah. Oh, what a nice guy. You know Aiden's story, right? He's a senior in high school. He's graduating. Oh, yeah.

00:32:23 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 2:

The days, man. He's going out on a winter heater here, but we got to cool him off a little bit.

00:32:28 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know what? You might need to put him in his place here, Jack. We'll see what happens.

00:32:34 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 3:

We're going to try here, Mojo.

00:32:35 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 1:

All right, I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area. Aiden, good luck to both of you guys. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. What magazine is Anna famously the editor-in-chief of? Time. Question number four. Speaking of the Met Gala, Serena Williams debuted a baby bump last night. What sport did Serena just retire from?

00:34:05 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 4:

I love that you guessed if you didn't know, but you still only got two out of five. Oh, my God. I'm sorry, Jack. Not the best performance.

00:34:13 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, two dumb motherfuckers. I hope y'all dumb motherfuckers are very happy together, okay?

00:34:17 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. All right, Aiden, I don't think that Jack's got a chance today. Question number one. The countdown is on for King Charles' coronation, which is happening on Saturday. Which royal family member is next in line for the throne?

00:35:29 - 00:35:30 | Speaker 2:

00:35:43 - 00:35:43 | Unknown:

00:35:44 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 1:

00:35:44 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 2:

Final score, four to two. There you go. Aiden wins.

00:35:48 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to you. I was thinking to myself when we got Aiden, a high school senior, and Jack, blue-collar dude from Toledo, on the phone. Met Gala questions are probably not going to be very, very good.

00:36:02 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you know what? It was the biggest thing to happen. Well, second biggest thing to happen last night. The writer's strike was pretty good.

00:36:07 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 1:

But hang on, hang on a second. Coming up here next on the Mojo on the Morning Show, a blue-collar dude that is a fan of the Met Gala. I don't know if I'd call him a blue-collar dude. What color collar is he, Megan?

00:36:23 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 2:

She was A white collar

00:36:28 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 1:

Is he a white collar Does he like white collars Or does he ever wear like a You know Purple collar Blue collar Orange collar No collar No collar He's a no collar guy He's a no collar dude Yeah there you go We'll talk about that Megan's brother's new obsession Coming up next here on the show Hang on the phone for just one second Because we're going to set you up With a parting gift Okay Jack Okay Alright don't go anywhere Nice to have you playing

00:36:49 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings 5 at 6.55 5.55

00:36:52 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. We'll kick off the 7 o'clock hour War of the Roses happened after 7.30 this morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Mojo in the Morning Show. So yesterday was Megan's Super Bowl, the Met Gala.

00:37:15 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

00:37:16 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 1:

And as soon as I started seeing that KP was posting up on our Mojo in the Morning Instagram, and Facebook about the Met Gala, I thought to myself, oh, this morning, my version of when Shannon will actually hear Mike and I talk sports, I'm going to have to go online and I'm going to have to go on lids.com and start buying hats or something. I don't know. What is the guy version of shopping like you do? I don't know.

00:37:42 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, did you follow along on my Instagram stories? Did you vote?

00:37:46 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I did.

00:37:46 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 2:

I didn't vote, but I was peaking. What about you, Mojo?

00:37:51 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 1:

No, I did not. I'm sorry. I did not. I actually, I will say this to you because it was a Monday night. I always end up getting so exhausted from the weekend and especially seeing that you woke up so early in the morning and didn't let me sleep on Sunday morning that I like passed out on my couch at like two in the afternoon yesterday.

00:38:13 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, you'll love this. You know that Eminem and Rihanna song, The Monster? That's my brother's new theme song. Call me Frankenstein. i have created a monster with my brother um it all really came to a head last night as we were watching the met gala now i did this thing with my brother was like i can watch it on my phone while you watch something else but i really need to watch it tonight you know i really want to and and to be fair during covid i really got my brother into rupaul's drag race so he is a major fan and a part of that is us pretending like we know what we're doing when it comes to drag even and though clearly we don't, and telling the Queens what they're doing right and wrong with zero perspective on how it actually works. That's what makes it fun. It's like when you're watching a hockey game and you're making calls like you know how to coach the team better than the coach does. That's what we do from our own couch. So we are watching the Met Gala last night, and I'm posting up on Instagram stories, and I'm getting people to vote and tell me what they like and they don't like, and my brother just starts going off. This man deep-dived Karl Lagerford so he knew the theme of the gala and the history of the gala. And he started just lighting in to these celebrities and saying everything that they were doing wrong. And most of my captions on the photos on my Instagram stories are just verbatim what my brother said to him. Oh, really? Oh, he did most of my job for me.

00:39:39 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

At Megan Mick, I'm looking at here, it says, are you freaking kidding me, Doja Cat? Let me look at these ones here. Didn't like her.

00:39:47 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 2:

So then I would do polls, right? And he loved Doja Cat's look last night. Oh, really? Me neither. That was scary. And I was like, well, people on Instagram are not agreeing with you. They do not like Doja Cat. If you only knew the kind of time it took to make the prosthetics look that smooth. The artistry of it all, Megan. The artistry. And he was just going off. And I looked at him and I was like, this is my own doing. This is my own fault.

00:40:13 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 1:

So this is your brother's new thing, huh? Because he started watching RuPaul's Drag Race. He now knows fashion.

00:40:19 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 2:

He thinks he's a fashionista. He feels like he grew up. What was that board game, The Pretty Pretty Princess? Yes, I just played it last weekend. I feel like my brother needs to start playing these games. They'd be right up his alley. Or the one where the mall where you had the credit card. Mall Madness. Mall Madness. This is who my brother is slowly turning into. If you have any other recommendations of how I can get him to live his best fashionista life, I am all ears.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 3:

I feel like we need to get him on later in the show to kind of do his best trust. Can he be a correspondent for Shannon's Dirty?

00:40:50 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 2:

I would love that. Oh, my God. Actually, I don't. I'll see if he's up. I'll text him.

00:40:55 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 1:

You know what this reminds me of? I wipe from all the excitement. This reminds me of as a little boy growing up with sisters playing Barbies with them and then being more excited about playing Barbies. Like not, you know, like you remember when my sister had a Barbie dream house and stuff like that. Like you were like, as a kid, you were like.

00:41:10 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 3:

Well, it rubs off.

00:41:11 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 1:

It was unbelievable. It was like, you're so excited about it. That's all you wanted to do is play. And you couldn't play it. You couldn't play it unless she was there because obviously she didn't want you to touch it, but you really wanted to.

00:41:22 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 2:

Did Pat ever yell at you for playing Barbies wrong?

00:41:25 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 1:

Yes. My sister Pat and Pat would always yell at me that Barbie wasn't supposed to be in that room or Barbie wasn't supposed to be talking to Ken at that time, you know, stuff like that.

00:41:35 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 3:

And Barbie and Ken and, you know, Chelsea, Skipper, they all had very specific voices

00:41:40 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

and you had to do the voices right. Well, question from Megan on this one. Would your brother had watched the Met Gala if you weren't home watching it? Was he more into it because you were into it also, or was he, like, if he came home after a tough day at work, sat on the couch, pulled up his, what did you guys watch it on, your phones or iPads, or what did you watch it on?

00:42:05 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 2:

No, we watched it on the television.

00:42:06 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so it was on E? Okay.

00:42:07 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we watched the full three and a half hour broadcast together. Oh, my Lord. We did not give up on this at all. And at one point, I even looked at my brother and I said, you know, if you don't want to, if you want to turn something else on, it's absolutely fine. He's like, no, no, I think I'm kind of into this. I was like, yeah, you are, bitch.

00:42:21 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you are.

00:42:24 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 2:

But it was truly so much fun to create the person I've always wanted him to be, my older sister.

00:42:33 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 1:

It's funny because I've never been in the Met Gala. I mean, don't be upset with me about that. It doesn't surprise me. I was never, like, excited about the Met Gala. But I will tell you that for the sake of the show, you just want to stay connected and see what people are doing and what's the craziest thing that they're doing. And I turn on and I realize It just to me is like It's like the Hollywood You know Oscar I mean it is a who's who That's all it is isn't it

00:43:00 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes and no I mean there is a lot of behind the scenes drama In terms of who gets an invite Who doesn't

00:43:08 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 2:

On all my mood boards it's a 1992 fall

00:43:11 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry I'm just Yeah I mean it is

00:43:13 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 2:

By Carl obviously And it's just very very

00:43:19 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people wait to debut relationships on the Met Gala carpet, babies, as we saw last night, or pregnancies, excuse me, yeah, nobody's bringing babies.

00:43:29 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Wait, no, no, no, Kim Kardashian brought- She brought North, that's true. Brought North.

00:43:33 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Who I believe was the only person wearing jeans.

00:43:35 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:35 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Was there anybody else wearing jeans?

00:43:36 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 2:

Which is a huge no-no, and apparently Anna Wintour was pissed. I bet.

00:43:41 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

Was she?

00:43:42 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 2:

So I also love the other drama of the night, which is Karl Lagerfeld was the theme, which is interesting because it's not usually people but he was the thing but he's very controversial and a lot of people don't like him so when Viola Davis hits the carpet my brother and I were both like oh what is happening here? Was she in pink? She was in a pink it almost looked like hate me if you want I don't care she looked like a 1970s backup singer to a Vegas show feathers, hot pink sequins on it and it just didn't look right and I realized it was a huge statement from her people because Karl Lagerfeld hated feathers, he hated pink, he hated natural hair, he hated curvy women, and it was a big middle finger to the theme of the whole show. And I loved it. I lived for the drama of the night. By the way, if you're going,

00:44:34 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 3:

can someone please explain to me who the hell Karl Lagerfeld is? Yeah, I was gonna ask that question. I would say he is best known for taking over Chanel and he kind of created the double C interlocking logo for Chanel. He is a designer, but he's known, I would say, for Chanel.

00:44:56 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Denise? Yes? What's going on?

00:45:00 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 4:

nothing i had texted and i was like why are they not talking about the roach like oh we did the roach was the big the roach was a big what was the roach wearing actually yeah you're right

00:45:11 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

because it's in new york city so appropriately enough a cockroach ran out yeah and yeah the

00:45:17 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 4:

the journalist was like take a picture of the roach get the road everybody took a picture of

00:45:22 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 6:

the roach and then the roach they were letting the roach climb on people's cameras and shoulders to take pictures. Literally, like, it was disgusting.

00:45:31 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, the reason why, because if they weren't on camera and there weren't that many people there, they would have killed the roach. Well, the roach got killed. They were too afraid of what people would think. Yes. It got stepped on.

00:45:40 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:45:42 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call.

00:45:44 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

00:47:46 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 4:

00:48:26 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

I love that. Tell us.

00:48:27 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 4:

I went on a Christmas trolley and I rocked the bus. Really?

00:48:32 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. So are you the type of person on a pedal pub that doesn't pedal, that you just sit there and party the whole time?

00:48:38 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 4:

No, I pedal with all my might. I keep those people going. I don't stop.

00:48:42 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

00:48:43 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

I hear the music, put on the radio, have a drink and have a good time.

00:48:46 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 1:

I love it. What do you drink? What's your cocktail?

00:48:49 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I really don't know. sometimes I just put back a beer here or there. You know, I really don't drink that much because of my kids, but when I went out, I had Crown and what is that, Tequila Rose.

00:49:00 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

00:49:39 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

She's a true mom She wants to be by her kids Yeah

00:49:45 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 4:

My oldest is 17, and my youngest is 6. Wow. Like I said, don't ask me why. I love you. I gave someone the gift of life, and that's what happened.

00:49:58 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Victoria.

00:50:00 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 3:

mom on the phone with us right now i want to run something by you okay yes something that i saw when i was going to get my car washed on sunday was shocking to me and i want you to tell me what your thoughts are on this okay okay i was getting my car washed and i needed to wash the inside of the car because as you know winter just destroys the inside of your car with your floor mats and everything like that oh yeah so i'm a freak so i got out so i had to get out of the car you know and they make you go to a special area like they have even like this little area room like you know where you go and you just sit there and you're watching them vacuum and then putting your you know floor mats through the the machine to clean them off and i i'm a big nosy son of a bee and i start noticing other people that are around me including i noticed this mom that got out of her car and then starts getting into an argument with the car wash manager and the argument was over ready for this the mom's refusal to take her child out of their car seat while the car wash people were going to wash the inside of the car and i overheard i overheard her say my baby was sleeping i don't want to wake him up and then i heard the manager say it's a liability thing you don't understand that you know we can't allow a worker to go inside of the car while there's a kid sitting in the back because you know something happens to your child it could be problem and then she just went insane like she literally starts yelling yeah if someone asked me that or told

00:51:35 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 1:

me that they were going to clean my car for me i would take my whole seat out with my kid in his

00:51:39 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 2:

car right right or maybe go get your car washed at a different time when your kid's not sleeping

00:51:46 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:51:46 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 2:

No one cleans my car. No one ever cleans my car.

00:51:50 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 3:

So, Victoria, she's screaming and yelling, and this manager was being very nice. Honestly, I applaud this guy because he was so kind, and he was not trying to make her look bad or anything. But I noticed one thing that I thought was very interesting. While the mom was willing to let the car wash people go into the car and do all the things that they needed to do with their child sleeping in the car seat, she had her really nice expensive purse on her shoulder that she was talking to the car wash guy with.

00:52:22 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, never.

00:52:23 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

And I'm thinking to myself, okay, you take your purse out of the car so that the car wash people can't be in your car with your purse there, but you leave your child in the car. Because we've used that analogy numerous times about people who like run into 7-Eleven or to Starbucks and leave their kids in their car.

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

But they will not leave their purse on the front seat.

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they won't leave their purse on the front seat.

00:52:43 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 2:

Here's the other thing about this. That just blows my mind.

00:52:45 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't have to worry about that. I don't have a purse either. My son makes fun of me because I carry a man's wallet.

00:52:51 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? You know what? You are a mom. You give everything to your kids, and you take nothing for yourself.

00:52:55 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 2:

But this woman is so worried about the car wash workers waking up. The kid's going to get woken up in the car because they're going to use a vacuum.

00:53:04 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

00:53:05 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't even make sense.

00:53:06 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 3:

So I bring this up because I wanted to ask the question as we get ready soon to be celebrating Mother's Day. Who's the worst mom ever?

00:53:13 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 2:

apparently me because i poured the syrup on the pancakes on sunday morning and didn't let him i'm

00:53:21 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 3:

not talking about your kids screaming you're the worst mom ever that's a different thing i know when kids scream you're the worst mom ever you just want to lock them out of the house in the middle of winter right i'm talking about what did you witness a parent it could be a dad too could be an uncle could be a who knows what else what did you witness a parent do with you know with the kid that you're like oh because every now and again you see this in victoria please tell me that you're not one of these moms where you see the kid running like a maniac through uh target knocking things over displays over and not doing anything about it has that ever happened with you

00:53:55 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 1:

and your kids with me and my kids no no my kids are pretty well behaved they stay by me you know i mean my oldest one now doesn't go shopping but my youngest one he's he's so good he carries the groceries in the house for me so i could put them away goodness you know why yeah guess why

00:54:11 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 3:

yeah they love their mom and you'd open up a can of whoop ass on them wouldn't you

00:54:17 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 1:

yeah you know like i said this morning the lawn bag opened and i told my son lesson learned you never put a lawn bag out in the rain you know i kind of got a little sleepy with them this morning because he didn't want to get dirty but it is what it is yeah no that's good yeah

00:54:32 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 3:

hold on the line for one second because i'm going to give you to lydia so that she can get

00:54:35 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 1:

information from you for the naughty mom's night out okay i'm so excited you don't even know

00:54:40 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

uh texters that are are coming in at 95500 i don't know if lydia is going to call this person but i'll read it and if they call they can do it um witnessed the worst mom ever uh who left her entire back seat of her car with her babies in it so she could go into speed

00:55:00 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 5:

and sat inside talking to the person at the counter while the kids were all in the backseat completely by themselves. I mean, listen, I'm not going to – I know it's tough. And I know it's tough sometimes you don't have anybody that's there to help you. And they don't have a drive-through, obviously, at a speedway.

00:55:16 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 1:

Especially if you've got a baby in one of those car seats that has to click in. I mean, those are a big pain in the butt to get in and out.

00:55:24 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 5:

But all it takes, though, is a couple of moments for that to happen. Mojo witnessed a very similar thing to yours. I witnessed a kid who was just being rotten when I was at the mall the other day, and the mom was completely ignoring everything that the kid was saying. That is from 517. That's going on.

00:55:48 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 1:

That could have been strategy, by the way. That could have been strategy.

00:55:51 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You know what's funny is that I remember the days when they were like this, And Chelsea would say to me, she would say, you know what? You just got to ignore them there for a little bit. And honestly, I started acting a fool, you know, because it drives me crazy. And I think everybody's eyes are on us. Chelsea's so much better at dealing with the kids when they're going through a temper tantrum than I was. Yeah. Like I was definitely like that, you know, that mom the other day that I was talking about that would just get crazed.

00:56:21 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, I say the ignore thing might be a strategy because, I mean, just the other day, Lucy was being super sassy with me. And one of the things she said was, just don't even talk to me anymore. And I said, all right, watch what you say, because I'm going to give you exactly what you want. She tried to talk to me for a good hour. I did not say one word to her. I was so proud of myself, Megan. I was so proud of myself.

00:56:46 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 2:

That as a child would send me. She will never do that again. That as a child would send me literally spiraling.

00:56:52 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny, though? When I go to my therapist, Dennis, I always end up talking about my mom or my dad. And I think to myself, every time that I'm bringing them up, my kids are going to be in the therapist talking about me and Chelsea, wondering what we did to them in those moments. What's up, Sarah?

00:57:06 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, morning, guys.

00:57:08 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 5:

What's up? How are you?

00:57:09 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm good. How are you?

00:57:11 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 5:

We're good. We're talking about, you know, when parents are crazy.

00:57:16 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, I wouldn't call this lady the worst mom ever, but she definitely needed an extra hand. She had four kids, probably all under the age of six. and I went to Bell Tire to go get my tires rotated and they have these big rims on display and she's letting the kids climb up the display and these rims are just rocking back and forth and I'm like I'm a nurse so I'm freaking out thinking one of these rims is going to come over on this kid and then I'm going to have to do some sort of nurse you know nursing and I'm like in in my field and so then she decides she needs to go use the bathroom and so all these People are walking in, and they see, like, these four kids, and she left the one that's sick in charge of the other one. So this guy's looking at me, and he's, like, looking at me like, hey, lady, you want to control your kids? And I just threw my hands up, and I was like, I'm watching them, but they're not mine.

00:58:06 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 5:

I'm watching them, but they're not mine. That's the worst feeling ever when, yeah, you're the only adult that's around them, and people are thinking that they're your kids. What's up, Kathy?

00:58:15 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I just want to make a comment on, like, the worst months, but maybe they're not the worst months. But I always seem like it's going into the stores or something. On a day like this, it's cold. The parents have a hoodie on, a coat, and their poor children who are under a year old or a year old have nothing on. They have no beginning. Were you at the Walmart in Troy three weeks ago? Were you the one that yelled at me? No, but if I was, I would have said something.

00:58:43 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 5:

You know what, though? The problem is the kids won't wear a coat. They do not want to wear a coat. They won't do it. Yeah.

00:58:47 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, but if they're not walking, I mean, I see them where they're carrying them because they're like, maybe a year old or under, and they ain't got no pajama pants on or no socks or nothing. Yeah.

00:58:58 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 2:

But truly, though, truly, what happens when a kid is absolutely freaking out and won't put on clothes, but you have to go leave the house, say it's to get medicine or whatever it is. You have to leave the house, but the kid won't stop screaming if they're clothed.

00:59:16 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 5:

That's honestly dressed up for Walmart, just so you know that. How about this texter here? The texter here who says, Worst mom ever breastfeeding her child in a pot-smoking circle while people are sitting there smoking pot around. I don't know. Maybe it calms the baby down. Those things do not mix. I'm joking. I'm just saying. Worst mojo ever.

00:59:43 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:46 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 5:

What's going on in the Dirty on 30?

00:59:47 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson reunited at the Met Gala in New York last night. Last year, they famously walked the carpet together. Remember, she was in marriage.

01:00:00 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 4:

Marilyn Monroe's dress, but they actually looked really happy talking to each other last night. The Daily Mail described them as giddy talking to each other. I know I saw Usher came over at one point to say hi, and everybody wanted more details about Kim's upcoming role in American Horror Story, Delicate.

01:00:16 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 3:

We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month, but production's already started, and I'm so excited.

01:00:22 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 5:

Tease us about your role. What could you tell?

01:00:24 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 3:

I can't. I can't. I can't. It's good. I'm excited. I think it's really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow, and I'm so excited for the experience.

01:00:35 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 4:

Taking acting lessons?

01:00:37 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 3:

I am, of course. Yes, yes.

01:00:40 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 4:

She had her daughter North as her date. This year's theme, Karl Lagerfeld, a line of beauty, celebrating the work of the design legend. A lot of people I saw selected looks in black and white, his preferred color palette. There were lots of tweeds and pearls and chains, all styles that are very signature for the House of Chanel, which he oversaw for a very long time. Jenna Ortega, Anne Hathaway, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski were all favorites in terms of best dressed last night. Sydney Sweeney, Meghan and I both agreed, also looking fabulous. But the surprise star of this year's gala, not Kim K, not Giselle, not Dua Lipa, a single cockroach. While fashion's biggest night was taking place on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the most New York thing that could happen, happened. A cockroach started walking the carpet. That moment has now gone viral. Photographers were snapping pictures and videos of this little guy. And I love that Variety tweeted at one point, it is with deep sadness that we must report the Met Gala cockroach was stepped on. Aww. Hashtag RIP.

01:01:47 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 5:

Could you imagine if I ended up in one of those ladies' dresses?

01:01:49 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. Well, they wouldn't know. They wouldn't be able to feel those dresses are so big and puffy. Well, how about Lil Nas X with his spray paint thing, you know, crawling across him with that spray paint costume?

01:02:04 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 5:

I'll say it. He looked so bad, it's not even funny. I love him, and that was not it. That was not the look. I don't even think it was on theme. I mean, he was going for, like, bedazzled cat, but it was just, it looked cheap. It looked really cheap.

01:02:21 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing about him doing that? They said that it took him nine hours to do this whole thing. And all I kept thinking of was that time that we did, what was that masquerade-themed contest? Oh, it was Day of the Dead. The Day of the Dead Halloween party that we did. And we had to be done up for, like, hours. It was honestly...

01:02:41 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you complained all damn day.

01:02:44 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

I hated it.

01:02:45 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 4:

And then the next morning you were still complaining because you couldn't get the black and white makeup.

01:02:48 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, it took me months to be able to get it on.

01:02:51 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 4:

All right. Ed Sheeran said he would be done if he's found liable of ripping off Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On. Returned to the stand yesterday, again sang, and played his guitar for a Manhattan Surrey. And he also expressed the toll that this copyright infringement case has had on him. And his attorney asked, what's going to happen if this doesn't pan out the way that you want it to? when the plaintiffs win ownership of the chord progression in this song. And Ed's answer verbatim, If that happens, I'm done. I'm stopping. I find it really insulting to work my whole life as a singer-songwriter. Now, Amy Wadge, who co-wrote this song with Ed Searin, told jurors about the song's creation, explaining that to her, it actually sounds more like Van Morrison's Have I Told You Lately than anything written by Marvin Gaye. She testified, once we had written and Ed started playing with the phone, we both said, oh, it sounds way more like a Van Morrison song. It has the same sort of feel as a Van Morrison song. There was not any talk about Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On.

01:03:56 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 2:

Now he's going to get sued by Van Morrison.

01:03:59 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm Ed Sheeran with Mojo in the Morning.

01:04:01 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 4:

Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will be temporarily replaced on American Idol this week while they're hanging out in England for King Charles III's upcoming coronation on Saturday. Do we have that clip of who's going to be replacing them?

01:04:16 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

Let me look here. Hold on a second.

01:04:17 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 4:

It should be named Idol.

01:04:19 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, here you go. Okay. Idol Judges.

01:04:21 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 5:

Hi, it's Alanis Morissette here. I am so excited to be prize. I'm going to be guest judging with Luke.

01:04:27 - 01:04:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Ryan. Thank you so much. And hello to all the idols. I can't wait to guide you through the stage of the competition and career. And yeah, this is the first time that I've done this on American Idol. Speaking of Ed Sheeran. I can't wait to take the iconic American Idol stage. And, yeah, mostly I'm just looking forward to meeting all of you and talking through. Really? That's a good get.

01:04:45 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Alanis. And we've got another balloon, guys. U.S. officials decided not to shoot down an unmanned balloon spotted off the coast of Hawaii over the weekend after determining it didn't pose a military or physical threat. A Department of Defense spokesperson.

01:05:00 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 2:

said in a statement that the FAA and the Defense Department first saw this balloon on April 28th. The U.S. doesn't know who owns it, where it came from, but stresses there's nothing to worry about here. A spokesperson said the balloon did not fly any, did not fly over, excuse me, any sensitive U.S. government sites. It doesn't pose a threat to civil aviation. It has now exited Hawaii airspace and territorial waters, but the Defense Department and the FAA say we are going to continue to keep our eye on this thing. 01:05:50 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 1:

the Morning. Jessica, how long have you guys been in a relationship?

01:05:53 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 3:

um we've been in a relationship for like almost a year so jessica is in a relationship with a guy

01:06:05 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 1:

who is technically still married but not married i know it's gonna sound weird he's what separated

01:06:15 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 3:

is that right yeah they they live in separate places but on paper they are still married

01:06:23 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Okay.

01:06:25 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 1:

And you guys have been together now for over a year, but you say that you're starting to wonder if you're just the other woman.

01:06:37 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because he occasionally stays at home to see his kids, right? And I get kind of antsy about that. And I'm also wondering when he's officially going to leave his wife and get a divorce. And I just want to see if, like, she's still involved with him. And I want to see, like, who he sends roses to.

01:07:02 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 2:

So question for you, just for the technical details. You said they're separated. Have either one of them filed for divorce? Like, has that process started or no?

01:07:10 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know. I mean, like, I don't know that much detail.

01:07:15 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But he has said that they have, right?

01:07:19 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 3:

He said that they're working on it.

01:07:23 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 1:

There's also an age difference between the two of you guys.

01:07:27 - 01:07:27 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:07:28 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 1:

How old are you?

01:07:30 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm 22.

01:07:31 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 1:

How old is he?

01:07:33 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 3:

55.

01:07:36 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

So not just a little age difference. There's a big age difference. Yeah. Do you meet his kids?

01:07:46 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 3:

I've seen them a few times. I've never been to their house. but we've, like, taken them out and done stuff with them.

01:07:56 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you have been out with the kids. Have you been with his wife, his ex-wife?

01:08:02 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 3:

No, I've never met her.

01:08:05 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you think she knows about you?

01:08:07 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 3:

I think so. He told me that. He's told her.

01:08:12 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Jessica's in a relationship with a guy for over a year who's going through a divorce, or maybe separation, long separation, and she's wondering if there's something to the fact that he goes and spends the night with his kids at their family house. Is there something between him and his wife? Hang on the phone. We're hoping that the flowers go to. I don't know who you're hoping the flowers go to. Hopefully they'll go to you, Jessica. Hang on one sec.

01:08:49 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, please.

01:08:51 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 2:

hello hi is this tim yes hi tim my name is nicole and i'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you if you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions for me we are going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses absolutely for free not going to ask you for credit card information they can be sent out as early as today and like i said we're just a new company and we're hoping that you'll use us in the future when you buy flowers all right have you purchased flowers in the last six months yes okay do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months um yeah yeah i will okay all right as a thank you for participating in that roses bloom.com survey um i'm now authorized to provide you with one dozen long step red roses, and I just need to get some information in terms of who these are going to, and we can start with a first and a last name, and then I'll get the rest of the stuff after that, okay?

01:10:10 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 5:

Okay, let's send them to Amanda.

01:10:18 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and I'm going to actually start a file for you. Hopefully, you will order flowers from us in the future. This will make it a lot faster and a lot easier. So, what is Amanda's relationship to you? I'm just going to put it on your profile.

01:10:31 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 5:

She is my wife.

01:10:34 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. And Tim, we also offer something kind of unique. It's a digital voice card where you can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered to the recipient. Did you want to go ahead and do that?

01:10:46 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 5:

Explain that to me again.

01:10:48 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

So when the flowers get delivered, whomever you're sending them to, in this case Amanda, is going to get a text message saying flowers got delivered. And it will also include this voice memo that we can record. So, it's just an alternative to a paper card. Okay. Okay? So, I'm going to count you down and then just leave, like, a short couple-sentence message. Okay. Got it? Okay, here we go. Three, two, one.

01:11:16 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Love you so much, Tim.

01:11:20 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Nice. Tim, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. I need to get you to okay that for me.

01:11:27 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 3:

um sure great and tim i'm gonna jump on here because i'm gonna get the information from you uh including the phone number of where we're sending them to can you

01:11:41 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 5:

give me that phone number yeah what is it uh it's gonna be uh eight one what

01:11:53 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 3:

okay and I also need to let you know one last thing before we do send this off that while we have been calling you to send these flowers off and to see who you want to send this flowers to there's a girl by the name of Jessica who's been on the phone with us listening in hoping that you were going to send the flowers to her. Tim, do you know who Jessica is?

01:12:36 - 01:12:36 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:12:38 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Who is Jessica? Jessica.

01:12:39 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 6:

she is a very important person to me

01:12:47 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

but not important enough to get the flowers

01:12:51 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 6:

i i did not say that um i i don't know if i need to be talking to you anymore at this point

01:13:04 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Tim, this is the Mojo in the Morning show. We're a radio show that does something called The War of the Roses, and we were just... Jessica, you got your answer. Are you okay?

01:13:29 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 7:

I honestly don't know what to say because I really thought he was going to send them to me. But that was really good. I just...

01:13:43 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 2:

Your phone's breaking up.

01:13:45 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to give you a second to think about this and we'll... I'm still pretty hurt right now. I'm going to give you a second to think about this and we'll get you back on, okay? Hold on one second.

01:13:57 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 1:

Yo, yo. What? This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:20 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

War of the Roses. Listener Megan, comments from you?

01:14:25 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I just wanted to point out that If someone does file for a divorce, it's public knowledge. So she would be able to search under the county that they supposedly filed in. And if it's not there, then the papers are not filed. Oh, I didn't know that. I had to do this for a previous reason, so I have experience with it.

01:14:42 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 3:

Previous reason, meaning were you with somebody that was also?

01:14:44 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 4:

I was dating a night nurse from downtown Detroit who claimed that he was getting a divorce, but he couldn't produce the papers. So I looked it up online, and there was no papers, and I confronted him about it. And he said, yeah, I didn't file yet.

01:14:57 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So he was trying to play you for a fool. Yeah, he was married, had three kids, and a dog.

01:15:02 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Thank you for the call. Thank you for the info, too. Anthony, War of the Roses, comments?

01:15:09 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just want to know where a 22-year-old thinks a 55-year-old is going to make it last. I mean, the guy in 20 years is going to be 75 years old, should be 42. What are they going to do, work this out for 10, 10, 20 years?

01:15:22 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm not even really that concerned with the age difference. I mean, yes, it's a big age difference, But I think there are more concerning things to me in this situation Oh yeah, yeah, yeah Believe me

01:15:32 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 1:

Believe me Listen, there are so many questions that I want to be able to ask And maybe I can, you know, ask Jessica here in a second I'm going to give her just a moment to kind of breathe

01:15:41 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 2:

Like you raise your eyebrows at that age difference nowadays But I'm like, eh

01:15:44 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 1:

I want to know how old his kids are Because a guy at 55 years old I could assume that his kids possibly could be very close to her age

01:15:53 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 5:

Yep And then you're acting like guys don't leave their wives for younger women all the time

01:15:58 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Right Well, Sierra, what's happening? Mojo in the morning, War of the Roses

01:16:02 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 6:

Hey guys, long time listener First time caller Good morning

01:16:08 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 1:

Please, don't keep us Waiting this long, what's going on?

01:16:14 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 6:

I just want to I'm not trying to be rude But we can't be surprised that he's going to Send it to his wife That he's not technically divorced from It's a lot of men that say I'm separated or we're going through a divorce that hasn't produced papers so it's just not surprising then age different like you guys said before that's not um eyebrow raising right we just can't be surprised that he sent it to his

01:16:39 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 2:

wife well i feel bad for her even with the separate the separation thing like okay i understand you're separated however long it may have been and you know you want you want to date but the problem in this case is tim is telling her yeah i filed we filed we well yeah yeah i is that true we don't

01:17:00 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 6:

know right yeah that's what i'm saying like you i mean you got to take it with a grain of salt like i will only believe if you show me the papers like i've never been married so i can't say how to handle the situation but i wouldn't be totally in especially he's still going to spend a night

01:17:14 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 2:

over his wife well that and who is top of mind when you have a beautiful bouquet of flowers to unless it's his soon-to-be ex-wife's birthday or something. Okay, maybe I could understand.

01:17:26 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 1:

Sierra, Shannon, and Megan, this is coming up on a lot of text messages and also tweets right now, too, where people are asking, did she know that he was married? Did she get together with him while he was still married before he was even thinking about divorce? I mean, that question's come up a bunch of times, And people are saying, okay, what did she know ahead of time? Because they're not going to feel bad for her if she was a person that maybe caused the split. Let me ask her that question. So hang on one second, Sierra, and we'll get her on here with us. I think we've given Jessica enough time. Jessica, answer that. When you guys got together, you know, did you know that he was a married man? Did you think that he was a divorced man? Like, what was the whole thing that you guys went through?

01:18:16 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I knew he was a married man.

01:18:18 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 1:

kids and so you knew that he actually had a wife yes and he was at the time was he happily married

01:18:26 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

no no no so they were already living separately when you guys started dating last year

01:18:31 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 1:

yeah correct okay and when you say living separately where was he living that

01:18:37 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 5:

at the time and where is he living now he's living in like a separate apartment and she

01:18:44 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 1:

still lives at the house that they used to live in and at any time have you seen anything inside of this apartment that makes you believe that he and his wife are together no he doesn't really

01:19:00 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 5:

have too much of the apartment i know he still has a lot of his stuff at the house though that he slowly brings back to his apartment have you ever been in his house no he he won't he he doesn't want me to go in the house because he doesn't want me to um meet his wife have you ever met

01:19:17 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 2:

any of his family the kids she said yeah the kids but i know besides the kids no friends not yet

01:19:26 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 5:

friends um yes i think it was a couple of co-workers we went out to one time okay

01:19:35 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 1:

have you ever been by his house like not in his house but like but driven by his house

01:19:43 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 4:

yeah we've we've picked up his kids before to like um do stuff with them okay

01:19:50 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

um hold on one sec jessica cierra yep i'm still here thoughts so yeah all those are

01:19:59 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 6:

Thank you very much.

01:20:00 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

Red flags. I feel bad because she's young. Well, she's younger than me. I'm 38. So I feel bad because she's young and there's emotions invested. But I don't feel bad because you knew ahead of the time the game that you were getting into.

01:20:11 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was messy. You knew it was messy.

01:20:14 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 4:

You knew he was still married. Right. You knew it was messy. Right, Shani. You knew it was messy. You knew the situation. You knew the card. But you still decided to play the hand.

01:20:22 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 3:

But she was also being fed a lot of lies. Yep. Yep.

01:20:25 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah, the lies come with it because he's trying to play both sides. if the guy is like hey i'm still married i'm possibly i don't want to i don't know what the conversation was i could potentially be going through a divorce or we are separated this is what's going on we are about to go through a divorce yeah and you still decide to say hey i'm gonna go ahead and go along with it now yeah there's guys that get a divorce but there's guys like in a situation that don't get a divorce because he has the best of both worlds but to

01:20:53 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 3:

be fair if he's living in a separate living situation i'm going to believe the lies that

01:20:59 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 4:

you're getting separated i agree with you megan because i agree with that situation i'm gonna believe those lies but you can't come on a situation like war of the roses and say oh i hope he sends me the flowers when you might be important but you're not that important because you're still not his wife yeah he's gonna always stand by his wife sierra thank you until he get

01:21:20 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 2:

divorced you're welcome thank you for it appreciate you listening thanks for calling and please call more often. Whitney says it is not her fault. And why is that, Whitney? Because the man is the one

01:21:33 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

lying. When you're single and you're thinking you're possibly meeting a guy that is either initiating that he's single or going to be single, why is the guy not in trouble for the lies? They're immediately like, oh, he's married. I just recently went through the similar situation and I had no clue. I met the guy at a bar, played to be single like me. We eventually dated. He told me he was going through a situation where he was divorcing his wife, and they were going through the course, and it would be final within a month. So I trusted it. We had conversations about it. He had his own apartment. I went to his apartment. I met his sister. I was like, okay, this is going good. Found out he was still married, and she was eight months pregnant. I had no idea.

01:22:21 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:22:22 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Wow. And then, so did you then have a conversation with her?

01:22:27 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 4:

Yes. That's how I found out because his sister posted a picture of me when I went to a barbecue with them, and his wife Facebook messaged me.

01:22:35 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 2:

Wait, his sister knew that he was a married guy with a kid on the way, right? Or a young kid.

01:22:40 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 4:

But she said they hung out.

01:22:42 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 2:

Why would his sister be part of this whole thing? She must have hated the wife, huh?

01:22:45 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they had, I ended up finding out they had their own issues later on. And, like, the wife had issues with the whole family. But we were still married.

01:22:53 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 2:

And she was pregnant. That's amazing. A person who was the wife in the situation is on the phone with us right now. And if you're just tuning in, War of the Roses, just did a War of the Roses a second ago. A 22-year-old girl found out that her 55-year-old boyfriend still married, still thinking of his wife, and still sending those flowers to her. Lee, you were the wife in the situation?

01:23:18 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 1:

I absolutely was. so my husband started acting sketchy um and i tracked him on the gps and found him at his girlfriend's house um when i showed up there he told her that we were already divorced and i was the crazy ex um so i ultimately filed for divorce and he was so adamant and keeping his secret that we were already divorced he begged me not to serve him with the divorce papers at her house because she thought we already were.

01:23:48 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 3:

Did you do it?

01:23:49 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, please tell me.

01:23:51 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 1:

No, I actually served him while he was at work because I knew if I didn't, he was going to make the divorce so much more difficult than it needed to be, and I just wanted out at that point.

01:24:00 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Did he stay with this woman, or has he moved on from her, too?

01:24:05 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, she found out about the lie eventually, broke up with him temporarily, then he committed fraud on her credit card, He forgave him, and now they're married with a child. Oh, geez.

01:24:15 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 3:

He sounds like a catch, man.

01:24:18 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 1:

No, he's a narcissistic D-bag.

01:24:21 - 01:24:21 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:24:22 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 2:

Are you doing okay?

01:24:23 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 1:

I am. I'm remarried. I have the best husband in the world. Two, two and under, and I'm pregnant with our third. Good for you. That's good to hear.

01:24:34 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 2:

Like so much. Mojo in the morning show. Got a lot to get to this hour on the radio program. Good contests that are coming up. Let me tell you first and foremost topics that are on the way here. Shannon with the crazy house people. Our producer KP with call me old fashioned. And Megan with I think I'm going to be. and we learned this new word today because I did not know this until today. Burglard. No. Burgled. Burgled. Burgled. See, I don't even know what it was. I didn't know how to pronounce it. And I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't know this. Burgled. I didn't even know that that was actually an official word. I thought it was part of your Megan language that comes up.

01:26:14 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 2:

Whenever people call our show dumb, I always go, duh. Listen to us talk.

01:26:19 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 3:

We don't know proper words like burgled.

01:26:22 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 1:

I never knew that

01:26:23 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Sounds like someone's about to like burp or something Mojo in the morning

01:26:29 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 1:

Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I want to throw this in here real quick Because I need to ask you guys this And then maybe the listeners can weigh in on it too My kids Have a very close relationship With their mother And I totally understand it But at what age can you no longer call your mom mommy because joe who you know from the joe show joe used that word and i overheard it and i thought to myself man you are a 27 i don't know something year old kid i had something like that he's like in his 20s he's over 25 let me just put it that way okay And you're only, listen, when you're over the age of five, you stop calling your kid or you stop calling your mom, mommy. No. You know, like no longer does it, uh, does it become something with you? You can't, you can't do it. Mommy likey. Yeah. You there at a certain age, you can't say mommy or indefinitely. Girls do not call your dad, daddy as a grown woman, because that's going to get even weirder when your guys are out at a bar or a restaurant together. and everybody's going to think that you are the girl with the older dude. What age? You don't call, KP, our producer, you're 25 years old, right? You don't call your dad, daddy?

01:28:00 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm 24. I always forget your age. See, I don't know anybody's age.

01:28:04 - 01:28:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know my kid's age, so please don't take offense to that.

01:28:07 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. I had to call it out. No, I don't call my dad, daddy. Definitely not.

01:28:11 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

What about your mom, mommy? Do you call her mommy?

01:28:13 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 3:

No, I call her mama. Mama. I call my mom, mama. Mama is also a mom. Mama? Mama. Mom?

01:28:18 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 1:

Mom? Yeah, I do that too. You can't do mama either. Why not? Mom. Because to me, that's also a thing. It's got to be mom.

01:28:26 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 3:

No, I call her mama.

01:28:27 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

Or you call her by her first name.

01:28:29 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 3:

Kim? No. Heck no.

01:28:32 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 1:

What about you, Shannon? You say you call your mom mama?

01:28:36 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 4:

Mom or mama. My dad, I don't think I've ever called my dad daddy. I mean, maybe when I was little. If I called Tim Murphy daddy, he would run.

01:28:43 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 1:

But then you're also the same person that has weird names where your kids call you and you call your kids and stuff like that, too, don't you?

01:28:50 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think every parent has nicknames for their kids.

01:28:52 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know, but at a certain age, you're going to have to stop that.

01:28:56 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 4:

Bubby is going to be Bubby forever and ever, poor kid.

01:28:59 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 1:

That's Smith. You want Bubby to get his ass beat?

01:29:02 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 4:

I actually asked him the other day. I said, is it still okay that I call you Bubby? And he said yes. There's going to be a time, though.

01:29:07 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 3:

I had an ex who his mom used to call him Bubby, too. Yeah. It's kind of endearing.

01:29:11 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 1:

How old was this guy that you were dating?

01:29:14 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're asking me. No, he was- No, I'm not. I'm asking Bubby. Yeah, I'm asking Bubby. No, he was in his 20s, like early 20s.

01:29:22 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 1:

And that didn't seem weird to you, that his mom was calling him Bubby?

01:29:25 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was kind of cute at first.

01:29:28 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 4:

My dad still calls me by my childhood nickname, which is Weezer. Oh, that's cute. I have asthma. Couldn't tell by the nickname. But yeah, all the time. In fact, if we called him right now, that's how he would answer the phone. Hi, yo, Weez.

01:29:40 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 1:

I remember that. Yeah, he always does. Megan, your dad, you don't call him daddy, do you?

01:29:44 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

No, I call him, I don't even call him dad, I call him Scott Mick. Yeah. First and last, never Scott, Scott Mick. Actually, when I do, when I'm trying to be endearing to my dad, I call him Papa. He's my Papa, and if.

01:30:00 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 3:

If I'm trying to get his money, I call him daddy. So I'm like, daddy. But that's your trying to be funny. Very much so. It's not real. You want to pay my mortgage this month? I mean, there are legitimately like 25-year-old girls that call their dads daddy. And it makes me like, ugh. That's so weird to me. And then I just don't call my mom, so.

01:30:18 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's a therapy session for another day. By the way, the whole idea that it's weird to call your dad daddy, but it's not weird to call your mom mommy. Mama. Mama.

01:30:31 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 3:

Mommy is even kind of, I don't know. Definitely not as weird as daddy. Then mine is mama, okay. But if a girl called her dad dada, we would be like, are you okay? Yeah, no, you're right.

01:30:43 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 1:

Rebecca?

01:30:45 - 01:30:45 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:30:45 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up?

01:30:47 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

What's up? I'm 25 years old and I still call my dad daddy.

01:30:50 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 3:

No, do you get weird looks if you do it in public?

01:30:56 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 2:

I try not to do it in public. like, I'll call him something different, but my boyfriend of five years, like, that was a real

01:31:02 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 1:

adjustment at first when we started dating. Man, I don't know. You got to be careful of that. Do you ever get weird looks when you're doing it in public? Do people give you that look like, uh-oh,

01:31:13 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 2:

she's dating an older dude? I don't think so. It probably happened once or twice, but, you know,

01:31:20 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 1:

people can think what they want. I don't know if I want them thinking that, though. You know, I know you're okay with it, but if I had a daughter and she was in her 20s and she called me daddy, I would sit at a separate table. Marlene, what's going on?

01:31:39 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, everybody.

01:31:40 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Marlene.

01:31:41 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 6:

When I speak of my mother, I call her mommy. Sometimes when I'm talking to her, I do. She has been the sole backbone my entire life. And she has loved me when I haven't loved myself. She will always be my mommy.

01:31:58 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, I can't make fun of that.

01:32:00 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I know.

01:32:00 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 1:

That's very nice.

01:32:02 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 6:

So, I mean, there's only so many people in this world that you want to keep that connection from when you were a child. You want to keep that safeness, that warm feeling, and she's that person.

01:32:15 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 1:

Here's the thing, though, that's interesting to me, though. where we don't find it weird, or Shannon doesn't find it weird to call, you know, your mom, mom, or mommy, or whatever. But she finds the song Butterfly Kisses weird.

01:32:31 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 3:

It's the cringiest song out there.

01:32:33 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, the reason why it's weird to call your father daddy is because, you know, you call daddy daddy.

01:32:42 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I don't understand. Can you please explain that to me?

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

I love how you tried to change your voice.

01:32:47 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 1:

too. Sandra, what's

01:32:49 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 3:

going on? By the way, and I know you agree with me on Butterfly Kisses. Butterfly Kisses. That song weirds me out, and I know it weirds you out, too.

01:32:55 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, if you go to a restaurant or bar and there's a girl calling her dad daddy and listening to Butterfly Kisses, then we definitely need to call the police. Sandra, hi. I'm sorry.

01:33:05 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes. So I call my dad daddy still and my mom mommy, and I'm 30, so why is that weird? Like, if I don't have a daddy to call daddy, then who else would I be calling? So what happens

01:33:16 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 3:

when you do find a daddy to call daddy?

01:33:22 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. So now you see how it's weird. I think you answered the question. It's my daddy, so if he's not, I mean, if I do find a guy and he's not really a daddy, then I wouldn't be calling him daddy.

01:33:37 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 1:

But it's all in the inflection. Like, it's, hey, daddy, like, daddy, or daddy, like, you know what I mean?

01:33:45 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:33:46 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 1:

Like daddy Hey daddy Let me hear you do it sexy Sandra

01:33:53 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 6:

That's not how you say it right

01:33:57 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 1:

You don't do it like that

01:33:59 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 3:

When it's your old man No What's going on Has he ever said stop calling me that

01:34:06 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 4:

No Okay

01:34:08 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm making sure that the inflection is different Imani

01:34:14 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes

01:34:15 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:34:17 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I was just explaining that I call my daddy, Daddy, because that's all I ever called him. And I don't mean it in no sexual way. He know I'm the oldest, so I'm going to always say daddy. But I'm not calling my mama, Mama. Like, I just can't do it. I'm going to call her Mama. What do you call her? You split it. Mama. Like, Mama. Mama.

01:34:36 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 1:

Mama. Yeah.

01:34:39 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 5:

Like, if I really want something, and I'll be like, Ma, if I really, like, want to talk and I'm like, all right, mama, let me talk to you real quick. But I'm always telling my daddy, daddy, I need some money. Daddy, I need to get something in.

01:34:50 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Yep, there you go.

01:34:51 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 5:

That's it.

01:34:53 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, Marty. What's going on, Marty? How we doing? You know, Marty, I'm just sitting here going, man, oh, man.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 2:

Man, I'm shaking my head at these responses today.

01:35:03 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. I call my mom K-Rox. Like, whenever she gets mad at someone and starts getting at someone, I just start laughing and just call her K-Rox. And so that name was stuck. And all my friends in my family call her K-Rox.

01:35:16 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

What's her first name?

01:35:18 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 4:

Karen.

01:35:18 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. Call her Karen. That will just piss her off. Right? Yeah. That will be something that would bother her. What's up, Debbie?

01:35:27 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. Good morning.

01:35:29 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What are your thoughts on this?

01:35:31 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, my 12-year-old son calls my husband, his dad, he still calls him daddy.

01:35:40 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 2:

And?

01:35:41 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 3:

I just think that's weird. I don't know. It's normal for him. He calls me mom and daddy. And he has older brothers and sisters, and they think it's really weird, too.

01:35:52 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. So he calls his dad daddy but calls his mom mom.

01:35:59 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he calls me mom.

01:36:00 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 2:

Why does he not call you mommy? He doesn't feel like...

01:36:02 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 3:

He never... Yeah, he never has. It's always been... When he was little, it was mama, and then it just went to mom. But when he was little, he called his dad, Daddy, and he just stuck with it.

01:36:12 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 1:

Are you worried about him getting made fun of? Is that what you're saying?

01:36:15 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, like yesterday, we were in the car, and, you know, it's just him and I, and he'll say, you know, where's daddy at, or are we going to go fishing with daddy, or... And I just think, I was like, how long are you going to call him daddy for, but... You know how you stop that?

01:36:27 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Tell him. He's not his daddy. Stop it.

01:36:30 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:36:31 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 4:

You are not. My husband will kill me.

01:36:34 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, just tell him. Say, I got something that I would need to tell you. And then send him off to school. Tell him to have a great day.

01:36:42 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

01:36:44 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 2:

All right, take care of yourself.

01:36:46 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 3:

All right, have a great day, guys. All right. You too.

01:36:48 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. It seems to me like a lot of people are texting in and a lot of people are calling in. And it must be like a, I don't know, it must be like a thing that's in families or something like that. Like certain families. Like my family was not a mommy or daddy family. Like it really wasn't that kind of thing. Either were we. But then there are other families that are very, you know, they're kind of like that. They're weird like that. Mojo in the Morning Show. Dirty coming up here in just a few more contest concert tickets. And pay your bills. We do it every single morning, giving you a chance to win. And then throughout the day, 13 times a day, kicks off at 9, 10 in the morning with us here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon, what's up? Crazy house people.

01:37:32 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

Well, so I want to hear some good stories. So my fiance, Wes, is actually getting ready to put his home on the market. I think it's going up tomorrow, in fact. And so we're preparing. Like today, he's getting all of the photos of the inside taken. And they're getting ready to organize like an open house for this weekend and then actually get the listing up and going either tonight or tomorrow. And I remember from selling my last house before I moved into the house that I'm in now, which I did for sale by owner, by the way. So I did all of the work myself. But this is when all of the crazies come out of the woodwork and you start to get all of the strange questions and the people who walk through your house get really nosy and sometimes might go through all of your stuff. Or if you have an open house, they tell you, you got to put certain things away, you know. So I want to know from people who've been through this process or realtors, what's the craziest thing you saw during a home-for-sale process, and what should he be stashing away besides the obvious personal documents and stuff?

01:38:35 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

You need to buy him devices, like a ring device or whatever, just to put on a countertop to listen to what people say when they walk around the house. but you got to have a thick skin because people always will rip on things that you know like oh

01:38:52 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 1:

my god when i sold my last house lucy was a baby so we had the the nursery camera and i would do that i would get on my phone and listen to how people were ripping like what they didn't like

01:39:02 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

about my house and i would get so offended that that honestly is the best in matter of fact um when we were looking at homes we had a real estate agent that told us don't talk when you're in the house wait to come outside especially if you really like the house because you never want to sit there and go oh my god I love it we got to have this house because then you know exactly if you know the person's negotiable or non-negotiable yep um did you see this story that was in the news last week I don't know what city it was in about the um open house squatter so you know how they do open houses on the weekends usually it's like Saturdays and Sundays they'll do like the open house and that's what his is gonna be yeah a person went to an open house the real estate agent closed up the house for the night only to have left somebody there that decided that they were gonna squat in the house and live in the house and they made themselves at home in the house they actually stayed in the house and the people had to get like the lead

01:40:00 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 6:

action taken to get them out of the house. Isn't that crazy? So you've got to be careful about that. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548.

01:40:11 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 5:

Imagine the next morning opening your closet and there's some dude just sitting there.

01:40:15 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, I can. Because I feel like everything nowadays is just wacky, you know? What's going on, Renee?

01:40:23 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I am a realtor. And if you put a baby monitor or a ring cam, you have to disclose it to people that they're being monitored, video or audio. Yeah.

01:40:33 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really?

01:40:34 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, if it's out there in the open, yeah.

01:40:36 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 6:

Even if it's out there in the open, you have to disclose that?

01:40:40 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 2:

Does that make sense?

01:40:41 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 6:

I know, but even if it's out there in the open, if it's like sitting on a table?

01:40:45 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay.

01:40:47 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 6:

I don't think I ever did that. It was just there. Renee, question for you.

01:40:51 - 01:40:51 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:40:51 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 6:

As a real estate agent, what's the craziest thing somebody's ever done when they went to go look at a house? Have you ever seen anybody, like, pull an upper decker or something or what?

01:41:02 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I have seen – actually, I held an open house, and the guy had a locked room with his legal paraphernalia, but he left out the trim in a bag outside of the room. So that was fun.

01:41:19 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 6:

Explain that to me. Is that dirty? or something? What did he do? No, no, it's not

01:41:23 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 2:

dirty. So he had a locked room with his marijuana and he left the garbage bag of trim. Oh, okay.

01:41:31 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 6:

I thought you were saying, I thought it was his valuables.

01:41:34 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 5:

I still don't know, but I'm assuming it's just the stuff you don't smoke.

01:41:37 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 2:

Correct. Yes. Right, but yeah. Okay. So you can use it for other things. There's all kinds of crazy things. I've walked up on squatters. I've seen... You've actually

01:41:48 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 6:

witnessed the squatter thing similar to that, huh, that I talked about?

01:41:51 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. It's scary.

01:41:54 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 6:

God, that's crazy. What's up, Angelique? Angelica.

01:41:59 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 5:

Wow. I'm sorry, Angelica. I apologize for him.

01:42:02 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever thought of naming yourself Angelique? It's such a hot name.

01:42:07 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 1:

No, listen. My cousin's name is Angelique, and my granny used to call me Angelique my whole life.

01:42:11 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry.

01:42:13 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 1:

It's okay. So when we were buying our house, actually, we walked into a squatter, too, at one of the houses we were looking at. and our realtor also told us too you never say anything about an offer you never say oh i don't like this because there there might be a camera in there you don't know wow so another squat and

01:42:32 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 6:

listen to this susan a squatter also at the at your house that you were trying to sell

01:42:37 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 3:

um yeah we were looking at a house in gross point and you know how a lot of those homes have three floors yeah well when we got up to the third floor i mean the house was completely vacant and on the third floor it was filled with baby stuff and so there was a woman and a baby living on the top floor oh and they were not there but all their stuff was there okay that makes me sad there was huge flashlights everywhere and what's funny is the realtor told us as we walked up like oh this house has been for sale for six months no one's been here for six months and when i walked in there was crumbs on the kitchen counter there was a couple dishes in the sink i thought that's

01:43:13 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 6:

really odd the funny thing is wow shannon i know why you're sad you're sad because you're thinking maybe this woman's homeless but the woman's going to gross point she's probably living the life of a gross pointer and she's probably not she's probably looking at it as a scam to to get a

01:43:26 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

house for free yeah i don't know it was one of those scams it was we found out later that it was one of those stamps and we really wanted that house and we ended up not buying it because of

01:43:35 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 6:

that wow the problem is that you can't sell it right away because they don't want to leave they don't have to leave and legally there are so many legal yeah there the law protects it seems like the squatters more than the person who owns the house yeah by the way so many texters are saying

01:43:48 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 5:

that they look in people's fridges to see just because they're nosy to see what's in there well

01:43:53 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 6:

i want to see how clean they are sometimes because you go in the fridge and you see like stuff that's

01:43:57 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 5:

outdated you buy the house you can clean that i know i understand but i just want to like see

01:44:01 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 6:

you just want to judge i want to judge them a little bit that's how that's my part of my

01:44:03 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 4:

negotiation okay uh what's up heather hey hey so it is crazy what you see what you see on the cameras when you have the cameras up and you're watching them during the open house are you a realtor um i am not but i recently sold a property and we have cameras all over our house not because we're crazy but because we have kids so we would leave them rolling when we have the open house Because, obviously, there are strangers in your house. And it's very weird, the things that people look through and, like, the cabinets they open.

01:44:38 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 5:

Like, what were some of the stranger things that kind of caught you off guard?

01:44:42 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 4:

Like, the smaller cabinets. Like, the more personal, like, linen cabinets in bedrooms or, like, master bedrooms. Just cabinets in general in the kitchen. Like, opening them, going through all the shelves. Like, not commenting on the beautiful pool. in the backyard but like commenting on how they didn't like the you know the paper that's covering the shelf in the kitchen could they be looking at space so they're gonna be moving in like i would be looking at that too like my shoes need more room but also um we also witnessed these people who came through and their kids were doing backflips off the couch in the living room

01:45:19 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 6:

letting their kids run around we went into a house one time this was years ago and it was a gorgeous house. Walked inside and it had the ugliest decorative guy standing in the front of the house. It was like this old bald dude with a mustache and stuff like that. And then when we met the owner, it was him. He had his own statue of himself.

01:45:47 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 3:

Wait. That was in the house. What? That's actually spectacular.

01:45:49 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 6:

And actually, my buddy Todd Bardis, his parents, I didn't know until years later, lived next to the guy, and that was the guy. The guy had his own, like, little statue that was in the front of the house. And I remember saying to Chelsea, I'm going, that is, like, the ugliest statue I've ever seen. And I'm like, oh, that's the man who owns the house. It was wild. Like, the person had his own thing. I'm going, man, I should get that as a present for one of you guys for Christmas or something.

01:46:15 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 2:

Adam, are you a realtor? I am not. But when I was buying a house, my realtor told me to open every cabinet and every door. Like, you want to see if they work. You want to see if the inside looks good. Do they do a quick paint on the outside and that inside is trash? Do the doors work? Like, I was told, essentially, if you're interested in a house, save yourself the time and go through all that because half of the crap might not work and you'd be wasting your time.

01:46:38 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 6:

That's a good point. Yeah. What's happening, Elise? It's Mojo in the morning. Shannon's fiance is selling his house. And if you'd like to buy it, you got to put 20% down. Need an FHA loan. What's going on?

01:46:51 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so my father-in-law, it was his 60th birthday, and his boss thought it'd be funny to give him a bucket, like a huge bucket of fake money from a movie set. And he's an Italian man, and his parents are from Italy, so they just thought, oh, this would be funny, and they could, you know, Italian mafia, kind of like, hey, we got your money. Well, when my in-laws were selling their house, the people walking through it got scared when they walked through. They had, like, a big walk-through closet, and they told the realtor, oh, we don't want to do business with these people. They're probably drug dealers, da-da-da-da-da-da. So when they left, the realtor called my in-laws and was like, so you guys didn't get an offer based off of the bucket of money. Is there something, you know, you should tell me about? They, like, died laughing. They said, no, it's all fake, but it looks legitimately super real.

01:47:39 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 1:

See, that would be the best experiment to see if people will just, like, take something.

01:47:43 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Yeah. Take a bill or two. Bird-ee. Bird-ee. I didn't see the Y at the end. Hi, Bird-ee.

01:47:49 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love your name.

01:47:51 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

01:47:52 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

01:47:54 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 5:

So I had a friend who was a, she's a realtor, and she told me one of her crazy stories one time, and I still sometimes can't believe it. They had an open house, and they had made all the guests aware to the open house that they had cameras, you know, throughout the facility of the house, no big deal. And a couple comes in, she noticed that they had been kind of gone a while, but didn't think anything of it. And when they reviewed the footage, they found that they had used the master bedroom to their own devices.

01:48:19 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, they actually went in there and had a little adult fun in there, huh?

01:48:23 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and when they were questioned about it, they were like, we just wanted to try out the comfortability of the bed. And the realtor was like, well, the bed doesn't come with the house. And they like, like.

01:48:31 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 6:

I've heard that that happens. Birdie, you'll have to ask your friend this, but I've heard that's happened more than once to many realtors where they found out that the house that was being sold, that people went in there and got a little crazy thinking, let me see.

01:48:43 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm definitely sure of it.

01:48:45 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's crazy. Tell me about how we cheated on you five times already and is doing it again. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 940 on Mojo in the Morning. All right, that's coming up. What do you got in the Dirty next? Because I've got to go to the bathroom so bad.

01:49:00 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so we'll talk about the writer's strike and how that's going to affect some of your favorite shows. And the secret meeting before the Met Gala. I'll explain it has to do with Rihanna coming up in the Dirty.

01:49:11 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 6:

we have another challenge in our only fans challenge our mojo in the morning show challenge to give you some cash just by taking on a little bit of a challenge we announced it earlier this morning and coming up in like the next 10 15 minutes we'll tell you what the next challenge is and see if you're up to it for a chance to win some cash what do you got in this

01:49:37 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 1:

hours dirty. Well, the writer's strike is on. We talked about it, that it could potentially happen, and it went into effect last night. So, this is very much going to affect all of your favorite nightly talk shows, like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They went dark immediately after writers agreed to strike last night. Seth Myers. The Daily Show will also be affected. Now, kind of up in the air, we're not quite sure what's going to happen with weekly shows like SNL, Real Time with Bill Maher, last week, tonight with John Oliver. They will be impacted, but the final decisions on those shows are expected to come later in the week. I know a lot of people are going, oh man, I was really looking forward to seeing Pete Davidson host again on SNL this coming Saturday. I don't know if that's happening or what's happening there, but I'm very much wondering how long this is going to last. The most recent writer's strike, I should say the last writer's strike, lasted 100 days before we finally got everything up and going again. Go ahead, Megan. I'm sorry.

01:50:43 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 2:

I also wonder how that works with SNL when most of the cast is the writers. They have other writers, too, but a lot of the cast writes a lot of the skits.

01:50:50 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 4:

I can't remember what they did the last time this happened because I think that part of the thing was a lot of the talent didn't want to cross a picket line. So they didn't want to necessarily keep the shows going, but they had to because if they didn't, they were going to get fired. And, you know, it'll be interesting to see what ends up happening with this.

01:51:12 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Rihanna had a secret fitting at three in the morning on Saturday involving twenty five million dollars in jewels from Cartier. And this was all for the outfit, the very big, beautiful white ball gown you saw her wearing at the Met Gala last night, the Super Bowl of fashion. A lot of she was on a lot of best dressed lists, I noticed. But some people were wondering if she was making a statement with her outfit that she and ASAP Rocky got married. What do you think, Megan? Because it looked like a ball gown wedding dress, essentially.

01:51:53 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 2:

I think everybody's looking for an excuse to say that they got married. I don't know if that was really the moment. I feel like she wouldn't do that at the Met Gala.

01:52:01 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 1:

Remember, a lot of people thought that with Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott when she wore white.

01:52:06 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 2:

she did it on purpose because if she would have married Travis Scott, the designer that passed away from Louis Vuitton, I can't remember his name off the top of my head. Virgil Abloh. Yeah, she was wearing one of Virgil's wedding dresses, so I think it was an homage of like, I would have worn one of yours and now I can't.

01:52:22 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Whereas this,

01:52:24 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't get wedding vibes from that.

01:52:26 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Rihanna, by the way, has been a Met Gala staple for years, first attending back in 2007. Blake Lively was not there last night. She always tops every best dress list, but she was home tending to her babies. Giselle was there. Tom Brady not even invited. Everybody's talking about Lil Nas X who showed up wearing a metallic silver thong and silver body paint encrusted with pearls and crystals. He had whiskers. One of several celebrities who brought cat inspired looks to the Met Gala carpet this year. On the best dress lists for 2023, Emily Ratajkowski. I thought Margot Robbie looked beautiful. Sydney Sweeney. Everybody was loving what she wore. Kendall Jenner.

01:53:10 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 2:

Margot Robbie looked great. Yeah. She was just boring.

01:53:13 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. God, she looked so beautiful, though. And again. She was boring. It was a black dress. I actually really liked Cardi B's outfit.

01:53:22 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 4:

While you two guys talk about this, all of us guys are buying things right now. Like you guys always yell at us when we talk about sports and things like that.

01:53:32 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can get a full recap, by the way, on the Dirty Page at MojoInTheMorning.com. Chance the Rapper telling Complex Magazine that if he continued the life he was living after his first album, he probably would be dead.

01:53:46 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

I probably would have died. Definitely the way that I was living at that time, I had everything in excess. Right after I dropped the project, I went on my first tour, my headlining tour, where I made some money. And I went and rented a crib. This is my first time living outside of my parents' house in another city. and having money and doing a lot, a lot, a lot of drugs and just like becoming a different person, like a lesser person than I am now.

01:54:09 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 1:

He was abusing Xanax really, really bad. Had a bad problem with that. And he just said he knew in his gut he needed to make a lifestyle change.

01:54:17 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

If I hadn't had my spirit tugged on literally and a calling to become a better version of myself, then I would have died for sure. Then I would just be the representative of acid and I'm so much more.

01:54:30 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 4:

Whatever happened with that cheating scandal with him?

01:54:33 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 1:

Nothing. I can't even remember if his wife came out to say that everything's okay, but I know they've been pictured together on several occasions, very much looking happy since he was spotted dancing with that girl. Where was that?

01:54:44 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 4:

They were in, like, some exotic place. Yeah, yeah. He was getting close with this girl.

01:54:50 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Bud Light sales outside of restaurants and bars down 26.1% from a year ago. And yes, this still has. to do with fallout from Bud Light's partnership with influencer Dylan Mulvaney. More than five billion dollars was wiped off the value of the brand and two senior Anheuser-Busch marketing executives have also taken leaves of absence in the middle of this fiasco. A friend of mine was

01:55:18 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 2:

telling me that he went out this past weekend and they were doing like Bud Light for a dollar or something like that or less than a dollar just to get rid of a lot of the Bud Light that they had at a bar downtown.

01:55:28 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 1:

01:58:22 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 2:

100.3 WNIC. Good clean family fun. Time now for Am I the A-Hole on the Mojo in the Morning show. Which, by the way, please do us a favor. Don't actually say the word because if you say the word, we get in trouble. It's so stupid that you can't say that word on the radio.

01:58:39 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 1:

It's so stupid to me that there are swear words you can say and then there are the big no-nos. You can say ass but you can't say...

01:58:47 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 2:

But you can't actually put.

01:58:48 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 1:

You can't actually say the whole part of it.

01:58:50 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 2:

Why is it that you can't say I'm. What if I did this? Am I the ass?

01:58:56 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 1:

No, you got to say something else.

01:58:57 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Shannon. You hit a pothole.

01:59:04 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 1:

Right.

01:59:05 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 2:

You know, stuff like that.

01:59:06 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 1:

If I'm boss, Tony is listening, you're welcome for giving the license. You can say damn, but you can't say spit. Oh. Yeah. I can't say spit? I wish we could say that word so bad. You can't say the F word, obviously.

01:59:21 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 2:

If there was a word that you could say on the radio, would it be the spit word? No. Or would it be the F word? Yes. Yeah.

01:59:29 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 1:

If you listen to our podcast, we all say the F word kind of a lot. It would be-

01:59:33 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 2:

All of us. You know what I think the reason why the F word is so great is because the F word really like lets you know how upset you are. F***. You know? It's so universal, too. Yes. And you just feel better.

01:59:46 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 1:

oh my god it's like relief sometimes i i would say like two out of the five days that i leave this radio station i get in my car and that's the first word that comes out of my mouth you just go in your car and just scream it out don't you

01:59:58 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 2:

the greatest feeling Tony walks by out of his truck, and I'm like, hey, Tony. No, it's not Tony. Have a great day.

02:00:04 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 4:

It's Colleen Grant, our boss. Or her. Who I-

02:00:08 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 2:

I hope they didn't hear me.

02:00:09 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 4:

I sit there, and there's a couple times where I've sworn in front of her, and I feel like I've sworn in front of my mom, you know? Yeah. I'm like, oh.

02:00:18 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know how I don't swear on the air with how much it really does take up my vocabulary. Oh. Like, so much.

02:00:25 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 4:

Thank God, by the way, that we have the dump button because I have sworn on the air and had to dump myself. All right, John is on with us this morning for Am I the A-Hole? John, you tell us what you did, and then we will all judge you and tell you if we think you're an a-hole or not. What did you do?

02:00:45 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, my wife, who I love very much, is very upset with me, so thank you for the opportunity to sort this out. I threw a party this past weekend, and, you know, this is something we do frequently. It's not out of the ordinary or anything, but I was in charge of putting it together and inviting our friends, my friends and her friends. and there were a couple of her friends that I neglected to invite and I neglected to invite them on purpose.

02:01:24 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so it wasn't that you forgot to invite them. No, yeah, yeah, yeah. You didn't forget to invite them. You purposely didn't invite them. Why?

02:01:33 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

I forgot to invite them on purpose because my friends just really do not get along with them. um they they're really a lot to handle so i just you know i invited plenty of our other friends

02:01:49 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 2:

but i just you said you invited your friends you said your friends don't get along with her friends

02:01:57 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 3:

that is correct that is correct what was the party for well you know my wife had just kind of had a long week she wasn't home a lot so i said hey you know let me just invite some people over for the weekend, you know, after you get home, Friday, we'll have, you know, I'll cook out on the grill, and she said, great, great, take care of it.

02:02:18 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

So it wasn't like you were throwing a party for her and forgot to invite her friends. You were just having people over to your house, and you did the invite list, and you didn't invite any of her friends or just specific these friends?

02:02:30 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, first, it was kind of for her because she had a long week, and so that's why I kind of took the responsibility to kind of put it together, but I did invite some of her friends, just not.

02:02:40 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 4:

this group. Alright, is John the a-hole because he left people specifically his wife's friends off of the invite list because he and his friends don't like these people. So he kind of was planning a party for both he and his wife but not inviting the people that she would want. And when you say that these are friends of hers, are these friends of hers that she would have invited if she was the one planning the party? Good question.

02:03:07 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Probably, yeah.

02:03:10 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Probably or absolutely, definitely?

02:03:14 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, very likely. Okay. Yeah. All right.

02:03:17 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, another question. If your friends who turn into trouble when her friends are around weren't going to be there, would these friends have made the cut? Her friends, would they have made the cut?

02:03:31 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Still, I probably wouldn't have. I probably still wouldn't have invited them.

02:03:38 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'm going to say this to you. I don't necessarily think that you're the a-hole. I think that you should have at least asked her, hey, do you want to invite these people? You know what her answer would have been. She would have probably said yes. I would not let her know that you purposely did not invite these people, or does she already know that you purposely didn't invite these people?

02:04:04 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 3:

We have accounts kind of out of the bag.

02:04:06 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, then you're an a-hole.

02:04:07 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 2:

So did she already call you an a-hole?

02:04:08 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 4:

right yeah then yes you don't need us so why are you calling us yeah uh i don't think it was that

02:04:17 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

big of a deal really i mean you have parties frequently yeah you know have any of our

02:04:21 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 4:

listeners ever purposely not invited like their like friends that were friends of people that you know you knew or like relatives the other one too if it was relatives i would say definitely because if you're not inviting like your wife's relatives over because you don't like them then I would say that that's crossing the line.

02:04:38 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 2:

But friends are sometimes family, and I think that this was just as big of an offense.

02:04:42 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Sean, hello. Am I the a-hole? Is John an a-hole?

02:04:47 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 3:

He's a big, gigantic a-hole. Yep. Why? Because he said the quality was for his wife to unwind. So that means her friends should have been there. Yep. And if your friends don't get along, you should have not invited your own. If you're planning the party and you're putting in all of the effort and you're the one reaching out to people, yeah, he probably shouldn't have said it was for his wife to unwind. That probably got him in the doghouse. But if you just said, I threw a party and I invited my friends, I don't think there's a problem with that. But the party was for both of them to enjoy.

02:05:19 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 7:

So both of them should have had a say in who gets invited and who doesn't.

02:05:23 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 3:

We didn't find out that she didn't enjoy it. We just said we didn't invite her friends.

02:05:28 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:05:28 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 1:

He specifically said it was for his wife to unwind because she had a long week, so he decided to do that for her. So, no, he did it for himself.

02:05:36 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 3:

But you're saying that she doesn't get along with any of his friends then, which isn't true. We're just saying both friend groups don't get along.

02:05:42 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's ask him that question. Do you not, does your, does your wife not like any of your friends, and were any of these friends at that party this weekend?

02:05:53 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 8:

She gets along with all of my friends. It's a really fun time.

02:05:57 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 7:

Can I tell you what's going to happen, though? Here's what's going to happen. Did her friends figure out that there was some sort of party that they weren't invited to? Not yet. Okay. Well, now they have because a million people are listening to this happen on the radio. And what's going to happen is even though it was your doing, now it's going to be this very muddy, icky relationship between you and those friends of hers.

02:06:23 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 3:

But I don't think so, because that means that she can never have a girls' night without his friends not being friends with him anymore. You can have parties without inviting everybody.

02:06:33 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Unless their name is Megan. Correct.

02:06:35 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 7:

But I feel like she should have been the one to make that decision about her friends. But she didn't do any of the planning.

02:06:42 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Here is a problem, though. What if they put the blame on the wife and John's wife and not John for not being invited? That's what I'm saying.

02:06:49 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 7:

It gets really messy.

02:06:51 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Angie, am I the a-hole? Is John an a-hole?

02:06:56 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 6:

I wouldn't necessarily say an a-hole. I think they should have discussed the situation. He should have discussed the situation with his wife about those friends before making that decision. Hey, if they're a problem, you know, if they normally cause a problem, as long as she had some friends, maybe she would have been okay with that. Yeah.

02:07:12 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:07:12 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. We need the drop of jerka. Maybe not an a-hole. Am I the jerk-off?

02:07:18 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

But definitely a jerk-off. Amanda, what's up? Am I the a-hole? Is John an a-hole?

02:07:22 - 02:07:23 | Unknown:

Hi.

02:07:23 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Hi. No, I don't think he is. As you said, his wife had a long, stressful week, and she wanted him to plan something. He did her a favor by not inviting certain people because when it's obvious that your friends and her friends don't get along, certain ones, it's just going to cause more stress and drama, and that's not what he was trying to do for her.

02:07:43 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so he was doing his wife a favor. John, use that line and see how that goes over with her.

02:07:48 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I like that. I agree with that wholeheartedly.

02:07:51 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Tiffany.

02:07:53 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:07:53 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Say hi to John, Tiffany.

02:07:55 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi, John.

02:07:56 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 2:

And now tell him if you think he's an a-hole.

02:07:59 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 5:

I do not think he's an a-hole. Like, realistically, if she was throwing, like, the same kind of party for him, she probably would have invited her group of friends that he doesn't get along with. Right?

02:08:13 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 7:

But would she have left his own friends off of the list?

02:08:18 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 5:

Right, like, she'd probably still have those people there.

02:08:22 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she would have had everybody there.

02:08:23 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 5:

Right. Right. So what is the difference? He's good.

02:08:26 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, that makes no sense what you just said.

02:08:29 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 5:

Like, if she was throwing the party for him, she would have still invited that group of friends that he doesn't like.

02:08:35 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:08:36 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 5:

Right. You're negating your, I think, the point you were trying to prove, though. Oh, I think I said it backwards. She's not an a-hole for inviting, for not inviting them.

02:08:47 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Thank you for the call. I have no idea. I think she thinks you're an a-hole, John. She just couldn't verbalize it. Ashley?

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning.

02:09:00 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? What do you think about this? I'm good.

02:09:02 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 6:

How are you guys?

02:09:02 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Good. Is it a bad thing to leave people off the invite list? Hold on. Let me dump that because you're not. Again, you heard us before we went into this whole thing explain that you can't say the word on the radio. Okay?

02:09:18 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 6:

I'm so sorry. I think he sounds like a nice guy. Okay. How many men throw their wives a party because they had a rough week?

02:09:26 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 2:

I know. That is actually very thoughtful.

02:09:27 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 7:

And don't invite her own friends.

02:09:30 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, if it's a birthday party.

02:09:32 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 7:

You're like, oh, so it's quote unquote for me, but it's all your friends here.

02:09:36 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, though, I thought to myself the same thing. I thought, this guy is really sweet. He's like throwing a party for his wife. He threw a party for himself. And then I realized he was throwing a party for himself. Exactly. Yeah.

02:09:48 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 3:

I still think it was a nice gesture. Same. I don't think these guys get it. I don't.

02:09:53 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You don't think that, you don't think there's something to the fact that his wife had a really stressful week and now he made it just that much more stressful.

02:10:00 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 5:

It's not more stressful

02:10:01 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 4:

Excluding a friend

02:10:02 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 5:

Now she has to explain this to all her friends

02:10:04 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 2:

No she doesn't

02:10:05 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 4:

It's not that big of a deal Your friends don't get invited to everything But here's the thing The dude was like we want to have fun this weekend We want to relax I'm inviting my friends over She gets along with his friends If he would have invited her friends If there was a party at my house

02:10:18 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 5:

And my friends didn't get invited They would be like what did we do

02:10:21 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 4:

Your friends are invited over every single time You have a get together at your house Unless it's a family birthday party Yes That is wild

02:10:30 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 2:

Shannon does have a lot of friends over all the time

02:10:33 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 5:

But I'm saying if it was a party For me and let's say Wes And my closest group of girlfriends Wasn't there That would be really weird

02:10:43 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 2:

And here's the thing It's stressful to have these people for John And these other people that are friends of John's It's not stressful for John's wife He said his wife is fine with these people And fine when they're around these other people So the only people that it's stressful to is the guy who's throwing the party for his wife.

02:11:03 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

Then this should be a make-up or break-up because if you can never have a get-together without inviting everybody where nobody gets along, then you shouldn't be in a relationship because you can't have get-togethers anymore. If it was his birthday party or something

02:11:17 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 5:

or a party to celebrate his promotion at work, I think it's a very different story. But the party, from what it sounds like, was supposed to be for the both of them. And actually, he said more so for her. So that's where I think it's so weird that he didn't invite her own friends.

02:11:31 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 2:

What if it was a party for his wife's birthday and he did not invite these people who are friends?

02:11:37 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 4:

I think that's very different because you're celebrating specifically her and you want her group of friends around. But if she gets along with his friends, like I have had exes where they had boys night. And sometimes I got to go along too because say it was at his apartment or whatever and I was already there. Like you can hang out with just a group of people and I didn't feel like, well, what a jerk. He didn't let me invite my friends over. No, I get along with his friends. I still had a good time. We were still able to unwind and have fun.

02:12:03 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 5:

I still want my friends there.

02:12:04 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Stacey, last call. What do you think?

02:12:06 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 5:

I'm stubborn as hell. I know I am, but I still want my friends there.

02:12:10 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 2:

Stacey, your comment?

02:12:12 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm sorry. Okay, I feel like people are not listening to what you said, Mojo, because at the very end of your conversation with him, you said, now, if your friend still had not come, would you have invited her friend and he said no yeah he's not inviting him because he doesn't like him right exactly and that's the problem he said he threw this party for his wife someone number one he lied second of all he still wouldn't have invited them anyways so there's a bigger conversation there this is just he no the whole thing is it it's it thank you for the call appreciate

02:12:51 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

it you're welcome when i walked into the building today i looked around like five or six times at the front door thinking that kp was going to be standing out there opening the door i thought the

02:13:05 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 5:

same thing and then did you see the little chalk drawing that said hi i thought did kp was it wait

02:13:10 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 2:

i thought it was kp too who was that was it i don't know who it was but i specifically got to

02:13:15 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 1:

work early so i didn't have to see anybody at the door if you're not knowing what we're talking

02:13:20 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 2:

about then go back and listen to the podcast from yesterday where we called out the fact that kp won't hold the door open for us uh and when when i mean hold the door open i'm not saying that she has to you know physically hold it open it's just that it'd be nice like in the morning you know to not have to pull out your key card and swipe the key card so you can go check that out but um you say that you're an old-fashioned kind of girl is that right yes except for uh the

02:13:44 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 1:

whole door holding thing it won't do that but I uh just recently finished doing something that my mom had ingrained into my head since I was a kid and I feel like I'm the only one who does this I don't know like a handwritten note I just finished writing all of my thank you notes for my birthday party and I do this every year obviously not a birthday party but like just if someone gives me a gift or takes me out or thinks of me I will write them a thank you note

02:14:13 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 2:

When was your birthday, by the way?

02:14:15 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 1:

March 26th. And you can make fun of me because it's literally May. Okay. I think it's better late than never. You can always be appreciative all the time. And I even, like, when I was writing, I'm like, yeah, it's late. But, like, I can tailor the note to, like.

02:14:29 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 2:

Did your mom used to have you do it as a little kid right when you got the gifts? Because that's what we would do with our boys. And Chelsea's mom would do with her when she was younger.

02:14:39 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, my mom, yeah. I would be a little more timely with my mom around But

02:14:43 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 2:

There's no way that if you were having a little girl's Birthday party where all your friends Came over to your house or you guys had it at Chuck E. Cheese or whatever that your mom Would have let you wait from March 26th To beginning of May

02:14:57 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

No she would have she had My ass

02:15:00 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 5:

at the table, and I was writing thank you notes for until it was done.

02:15:04 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 1:

In your defense.

02:15:05 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but Mama KP, she was very stern on specific things, and writing thank you notes and showing appreciation was one thing, and that has stuck with me ever since. I always write notes, and I always feel special when someone gives it to me.

02:15:21 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, when I go out to my mailbox and I see an actual card or something that somebody wrote, I actually get excited, because you there's it's so few and far between now yeah that you get something like that what's the old

02:15:33 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 1:

fashion thing that you still do that's considered to be kind of old-fashioned um the handwritten note is actually a really good thing if you're looking for employment or looking to get a better look at employment nobody ever expects that and you know it's like recently there's like been people that have been uh up for jobs around here and I was having a conversation with uh one of the bosses that was hiring for one of the other radio stations and they were saying that the handwritten note actually got that person the job because they figured if they took the time to write and it was not a thank you so much it was great talking about but it was like specifics and like paragraph a couple paragraphs if they were taking that time to do that they would take the time to

02:16:15 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 5:

do a good job working yeah yeah um i think it's i don't know it just it says a lot more like if you were to send someone a personal text message it doesn't hold as much value than if you were to hold the like the physical note in your hand same with pictures like if you post a picture on instagram you'll be like oh hey i'm tagged that's cool comment but if you got a picture in the mail with you know that someone took the time to print and send to you and say hey i love this memory you're gonna take it and carry it so funny i went to walgreens the other day to actually pick up

02:16:45 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 2:

photos that i had printed and i'm like i can't remember the last time i did this yeah exactly Isn't that weird? Like, I used to love going and putting photos in a photo album and stuff.

02:16:55 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 1:

It's funny. That's another one of those old-fashioned things where they still actually develop film at Walgreens and CVS.

02:17:02 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 2:

It's so cheap. You can do it on the app. And it's ready in, like, 10 minutes.

02:17:06 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 5:

So cheap. It's crazy. Oh, my God. Oh, yeah. So good. Except you always worry if the CVS guy is looking at your pictures and, like, don't put anything bad. Karen, what's the old-fashioned thing that you still do?

02:17:18 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, I still write thank you notes like KP does. But, Mojo, you got me to thinking. I don't know if you had this when you did your first communion and you have the big Catholic families and you get all the gifts.

02:17:30 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:17:31 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 3:

And then you're seven years old. You barely know a word. You have to try to write straight those thank you notes. I am scarred from my first communion thank you notes.

02:17:38 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for my crosses. I got more crosses. Oh, crucifixes. Yeah. Yeah. I would get, yeah. It was always that. It was like, you can't always wear those things. That or praying hands were always the other one, too. Like, people would buy you praying hand statues or the Bibles. Precious moments. Yeah.

02:17:56 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 5:

You know those thank yous that you're like, I don't even know this person that well, and I have to try and figure out what I'm going to write on this card that's not super lame, that's like, thank you so much.

02:18:05 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 2:

When I got married, I remember sitting there and not half the people, but a good chunk of the people I didn't even really know.

02:18:10 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 5:

You don't know people well, and they still bought you a present. Well, you know, you got the relative that lives across the country that sends you a card every year, you know.

02:18:18 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Elaine? Well, you don't send a thank you note for a card, do you?

02:18:21 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, if they give you a gift, if they give you cash or a check.

02:18:23 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay, if there's money in the card, yeah. Elena, what's up?

02:18:27 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I just wanted to say I love you guys. I listen to you guys every morning on my way to work. Thank you. We love you, too. Yeah, thank you. Um, so I just wanted to say I'm 23 and I, I don't know when this happened, but I started to use like, like old fashioned phrases, like, and it's like really weird. I'll say like, Oh my word. Or I'll say gee whiz. And like my friends, cheese and crackers, like look at me. Yeah. My friends will look at me and they're like, what are you saying right now? Like, I don't know. I, it's just me. It's literally just, I have no idea. It's so weird.

02:19:04 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 5:

I do it to be funny because it's just so late.

02:19:08 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 2:

You said one the other day, and I was like, only you could get away with saying that. I can't remember what it was.

02:19:13 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 1:

Juliana.

02:19:14 - 02:19:14 | Unknown:

Hi.

02:19:15 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 1:

Juliana, in the same vein of writing thank you notes, what do you write?

02:19:19 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 7:

So I still write my boyfriend love letters.

02:19:22 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 1:

Me too. Aw. That's cute.

02:19:24 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 7:

So the first time I actually said I love you, it was in a letter.

02:19:27 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 1:

Aw. Do you have it on like a special letter, you know, stationary or do you spray the stationary with your perfume put kisses on it like do like a kiss

02:19:38 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 7:

with lipstick i put kisses on it with different lipstick yeah i actually have a box next to my

02:19:44 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 2:

bed that i keep all that stuff in like the old ones that you've gotten yeah no oh oh you actually have boxes of what stationary or no of like cards and letters and stuff oh okay i don't know where

02:19:56 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

you're going with it i didn't know you said you got a box next to your bed i keep them from my

02:19:59 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 2:

it might

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 3:

My high school boyfriend and my ex-husband next to my bed. Wait, it's in your bedroom? Yeah.

02:20:04 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 1:

You have a box in your bedroom.

02:20:06 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's like a decorative box.

02:20:07 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 1:

With the love notes that people over the years, including your ex-husband, have sent you.

02:20:11 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 3:

Never mind. You were not listening at all to what I said. What did she say? I said from Wes. I said that would be so weird if I kept them from my ex-boyfriend or ex-husband.

02:20:20 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought you said you still had it next to your bed. I was going, oh my gosh.

02:20:24 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 3:

No, but I do have like a box next to my bed. I have a box too.

02:20:27 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 1:

What's your box next to your bed for?

02:20:30 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

Are you joking right now? Honestly. I just explained it three times.

02:20:33 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 1:

Explain it again to me. You have a box next to your bed with letters that were written to you in the past.

02:20:39 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

No, with like cards and love letters from Wes.

02:20:42 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, from Wes.

02:20:44 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Is Wes words of affirmation? You thought the same thing, KP.

02:20:48 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 1:

You thought it was from all the past things.

02:20:49 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I agree. That's what I thought you said. Megan, did I not say two times that would be weird if it was from my ex-husband or ex-boyfriends? Shut up, Megan. Never mind.

02:20:58 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. So the contest that we're going to be doing for our OnlyFans contest, I want to get to that. The contest that we're doing this week is for a chance to win free cash. The challenge is not as long as the challenge that we did last week where it took an hour to do. The challenge is so good. Here's what we're going to have you do. So this week on the Mojo in the Morning Show, get paid for getting your car washed. The only issue that you might have with this is you've got to drive through the car wash with your windows down. So if you're willing to go through the car wash with your car and you in the car and the windows down in the car.

02:21:47 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 3:

All of them down.

02:21:48 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

How much money would you want to get paid for something like that? Yeah. What would be your cost? What would be your fee for doing that?

02:21:57 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 3:

Imagine if you have cloth seats.

02:21:59 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:21:59 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 3:

Like lather seats. All right. It's still going to stink. You can towel them off. But if you have cloth seats, that's going to be soggy for a while.

02:22:07 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Let's not put bad things in people's heads about this. I think it would be wonderful. It will actually clean your cloth seats.

02:22:11 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 3:

We need somebody that's committed.

02:22:13 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 1:

Yes. It would make your cloth seats smell so much better than it already does.

02:22:17 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 3:

That is true.

02:22:17 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of that, I have to tell you that I'm driving a car this morning that is a friend's car, and I know this is going to sound really, really bad. It's the worst smelling car that I've ever been in in my life.

02:22:29 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 3:

Like what kind of, like a farty smell?

02:22:30 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, they went to the car wash, and I don't know if you guys do this, because if you do, I'm going to be insulting you guys, Shannon, Megan, KP, Lydia, Mike. They pick a scent, and their scent is like something that is horrible. So they got their car washed And then they picked a scent that they put in there And the scents always to me Smell like crappy chemical or something Like the only scent that's good in a car Is the scent of McDonald's French fries or the new car smell That you had from the manufacturer That's it Every other car to me smells like a fart Like it smells like somebody actually Crapped in the car

02:23:08 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 3:

And this car smells horrible And then it gets stuck in the seats And that's the smell you're left with when all the doors are closed and cooking in the sun.

02:23:17 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Any air fresheners?

02:23:19 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not big on air fresheners.

02:23:22 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 2:

You guys, you're missing out on flannel from Bath & Body Works.

02:23:27 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do they have flannel at the car wash when you're going to get your car washed?

02:23:31 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, they sell car scent things that I keep in my car. Do you have the ones that clip into the vents? No, I have the ones that are oil pots that sit in a clip attached to your visor. Oh, okay.

02:23:44 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'm not, honestly, I'm not a fan of those little clip ones that Shannon's talking about. The ones that Febreze or whatever the company is that makes them. They usually, those things always have a bad scent to them. Like there's never a good scent on that.

02:23:57 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

And the Yankee Candle ones smell amazing at first, but they just die so quickly and they're so expensive.

02:24:03 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 1:

Yankee Candle has car scents?

02:24:05 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they have these like, they look like little candle jars and they hang from your room. I'm such a scent person. And I can tell you which companies have what stuff for your car because I love it.

02:24:15 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 1:

You know what this car that I'm driving right now smells like? This car that I'm driving smells like a middle school girl actually picked the scent out for it. Like I'm going into one of those stores like the Piercing Pagoda or whatever. You know, it's got like a horrible smell to it. Aaron, it's our Mojo's Only Fans. Are you there?

02:24:35 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I am here, sir.

02:24:36 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 1:

How you doing, Aaron? All right, tell us. Would you be willing to do this?

02:24:41 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I would be down for this. I've always wanted to do this, but I would only do it if somebody was to pay me, and that's what I used to tell my ex-wife.

02:24:49 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 3:

How much do you want from us?

02:24:53 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

I would do it for $200.

02:24:55 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I like you.

02:24:57 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:24:58 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 1:

You're easy, and you're cheap. And what kind of car are you driving, Aaron? Volkswagen Jetta.

02:25:04 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 2:

Man, isn't it funny how this is a dream of most people, to go to a car wash and just roll the windows down?

02:25:12 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. It has always been a dream of mine, but I would only do it if somebody was to pay me.

02:25:16 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 2:

And where would you be driving in from?

02:25:20 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 3:

Monroe.

02:25:21 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so driving, we'd do it in the Detroit area. $200. That's not bad. I like this. This might be our winner on call number one that we picked up. Lydia, what are other people saying? Are other people saying that they want to do this, or is Aaron the only guy that's willing to do this?

02:25:39 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 3:

He's probably about the only guy that really wants to do it for real.

02:25:42 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 2:

Really? But where are the other people? They're not on hold right now with us? They're not picking up?

02:25:47 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

They want to do it for, like, 5K.

02:25:49 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

5K?

02:25:50 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 3:

Wait, 5K.

02:25:51 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 2:

Aaron, 5K. These people are insane. What do you guys think? First off, if we had 5K to do, we wouldn't be doing an OnlyFans contest. I mean, we'd be making you do something crazier than go through the car wash with your windows down. You know, then you truly would.

02:26:06 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I tried getting through last week for the pooping on the toilet, reading the book.

02:26:12 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if I had 5K, Aaron, they truly would be doing something with my feet for 5K. I wouldn't allow it to be this cheap. Hang on, you're my favorite so far, Aaron, and we love our listeners in Monroe. Matt, are you there? I am. You're one of the expensive people. How much money would you be willing to do it for?

02:26:33 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 3:

$1,000.

02:26:34 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, go screw yourself. There's no way. I'm not. $1,000? Are you kidding me?

02:26:41 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 1:

I'll screw all of you.

02:26:43 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

There's no way.

02:26:44 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 1:

See, now here's the thing with this contest. You have to be careful not to price yourself out of our budget or overprice yourself because then you'll lose the gig. You know what I mean? Like, there's a very small area of where this is going to work.

02:27:00 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 3:

It's a newer vehicle, so.

02:27:02 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 1:

What kind of vehicle are you driving? The 2018 F-150. Okay.

02:27:07 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 2:

That's a nice vehicle. But you know what, though? Those things are meant to withstand this, you know? They're meant to actually, you know, go through the ruggedness of the outdoors.

02:27:18 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you ain't wrong.

02:27:19 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 2:

All right. Go through some stuff, bud. So far, Aaron's beating you out because, listen. If I'm going to be negotiating for somebody here, I'm going to go with the cheap one. What's up, Spencer?

02:27:32 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

02:27:34 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Can you go lower than $1,000?

02:27:37 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 3:

I'll do it for $800, and I'll loop around that thing. I'll hit it five times.

02:27:42 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 2:

That's actually intriguing. What kind of car do you drive?

02:27:47 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 3:

I have 2,000 Chevy Blazers, the one I do it with, probably.

02:27:51 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Okay, have you ever gone through a car wash and accidentally had a window cracked or actually open?

02:27:56 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 3:

My kid had a rear one just cracked, and it was horrible. It was only about five seconds of hell.

02:28:02 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, here's the thing. Still expensive. One time the fun with Aaron here, or two times the fun with Spencer. We'll see what becomes of this, okay?

02:28:14 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 3:

All righty.

02:28:15 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 2:

Don't go anywhere. Notice that there's not a woman that wants to do this thing. Right, Aaron? There's not, there's no woman would do this. You know, I don't know why no one would do this. They don't want to mess up their hair. They want to mess up their hair? No, they're smart.

02:28:32 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:28:35 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 2:

Get you caught up on what's trending this morning in the Dirty on the 30. I wonder if this verdict comes out before he gets in concert with his tour. Would he hold true to what he's saying?

02:28:49 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Well, I know. So Ed Sheeran saying he would be done with music if he is found liable of ripping off Marvin Gaye's song, Let's Get It On, for this song. Absolutely done. He'd be walking away. He returned to the stand yesterday. Actually, he was singing and playing the guitar once again for a Manhattan jury and also really just kind of sat down and said, look, this copyright infringement case has really taken a toll on me, my family, my mental health. And his attorney asked, all right, what's going to happen if the trial doesn't pan out your way and the plaintiffs win ownership of the chord progression of his song? And his answer verbatim, if that happens, I'm done. I'm stopping. I find it insulting to work my whole life as a singer songwriter. He said this would just diminish that. Now, Amy Wadge, who is his co-writer on this song, Thinking Out Loud, told jurors about the song's creation. And she explained that to her and actually to Ed when they started, you know, kind of getting more in-depth. And as the song kind of came to life.

02:30:00 - 02:30:54 | Speaker 2:

They said it more so had the feel of a Van Morrison song, not necessarily a Marvin Gaye song. So that was kind of her point that she was trying to make to the jury. But I believe they're not or they are back in court today. I had to think about that for a second. They're not taking today off. So we'll have some more updates for you tomorrow. Kim Kardashian had a very special date to this year's Met Gala, which went down in New York City yesterday evening. Her daughter, Northwest, making her debut at the event. The mom-daughter duo swarmed by paparazzi as they left the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City. Were you going to say something, Megan? I heard you. Did she go to the Met or was she just leaving the hotel with Kim? Yeah, I don't know because I didn't see her walking the carpet. Did you? No. Yeah, and she definitely was not dressed for the event. I mean, I know kind of anything goes, but she was wearing jeans.

02:30:54 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 3:

Which is, you know, Anna Wintour.

02:30:56 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. I'm not sure they'd let you walk the carpet in jeans.

02:31:00 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:31:00 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 2:

I also didn't realize Anna Wintour has been hosting this thing or putting this thing on, I should say, for 30 years now. Kind of crazy. So Kim North, people were talking about the cockroach that went across the carpet. The cockroach became a viral sensation last night. Serena Williams, people were talking about the retired tennis star. She debuted a baby bump at the Met Gallow last night to let the world know she is expecting baby number two. Now, the theme of this year's gala, Karl Lagerfeld, a line of beauty intended to honor the late designer who passed away in 2019, best known for the work he did with Chanel. But the event celebrates the opening of the Met's annual fashion exhibit. It serves as a fundraiser as well, raises tons and tons of money. I know Kendall Jenner topping all of the best dressed lists last night. She was showing her butt cheeks on the carpet. And then afterwards, She went to an after party with Bad Bunny. And Megan, did you see what she was wearing? No. She had a thong pulled up over a sheer bodysuit. So very daring the entire evening. But you can see all of last night's looks right now on the dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. Katy Perry and Lionel Richie getting some replacements this weekend. They will be temporarily replaced on American Idol while they're hanging out in England for King Charles' upcoming coronation on Saturday. Who's replacing them? Hi, it's Alanis Morissette here. I am so excited to be surprised.

02:32:29 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be guest judging with Luke.

02:32:32 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Ryan. Thank you so much. And hello to all the idols. I can't wait to guide you through the stage. Who's that? Ed Seeran. Oh. Yeah, this is the first time that I've done this on American Idol. I can't wait to take the idol.

02:32:42 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's a good get there.

02:32:43 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 2:

I do. Two good gets, I think. Yeah. And lastly, there it was. And there it is no longer. Fans noticing that earlier this week, Taylor Swift deleted an Instagram video that she had posted a while back about her song Lavender Haze, which was all about her relationship with Joe Alwyn.

02:33:03 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 3:

In the era of social media and if the world finds out that you're in love with somebody, they're going to weigh in on it. Like my relationship for six years, we've had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it. And so this song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.

02:33:22 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 2:

So funny. It kind of brings up the debate of once you split up with somebody, do you go back and delete all evidence that they ever existed as a part of your life? Because that's kind of what she did with this one. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the Dirty in the Morning dot com.

Jen is unbelievable. I mean, she's got, like, her hands full because she's got, like, new baby.

02:35:51 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she does.

02:35:51 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 1:

And holy Christ. It's funny because I love their friends. Very good friends. And when Jen told us, Chelsea and I, that she was having a baby, all I kept thinking of the whole time was, oh, my God, I wonder if Chelsea would want to have a baby.

02:36:09 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 3:

Would you want to have another baby?

02:36:12 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

Only if my child was like a girl. I was going to say, you need to have a baby girl, for sure. If we could have a girl and she was, you know.

02:36:26 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, would you be so freaked out or would you be very, very excited?

02:36:30 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, we couldn't have it because both of us have tied our privates.

02:36:34 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 3:

Yes, no, I know that. I'm saying.

02:36:36 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 1:

To each other. But both of us can't produce a child. But you know what? We talked about before, you know, way back when, when Jacob was a little one, we almost adopted somebody that was exactly our middle son, Jacob's age. So this girl would have been in her, she would have been 25 or 24 right now. Um, and, uh, we got all the way up to the last process and then got denied because I was on the radio and they wouldn't, yeah, that's so crazy.

02:37:05 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why?

02:37:06 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Um, because it was, they thought that it would be too public with me talking about things on the radio and it just got to be, I don't know, they, they, it was done through, and I won't say exactly specifically the organization, but it was done through an organization that was a religious organization. And I don't think they liked what I talked about on the air. You know what I mean? I think they took offense to it but that's crazy and then and honestly their ultimate goal was to reunite this child with their mother which I thought was wonderful but the unfortunate thing was this child came from a really tough family life so I don't know uh Brianna speaking of mothers Brianna hi good morning would you like to go to naughty mom's night out I would love to I

02:37:50 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 2:

I need a naughty mom's night owl.

02:37:51 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 1:

You're a winner. Congratulations to you.

02:37:54 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yay! These moms have all been so excited. I am excited to hang out with you guys. I'm excited to hang out with you too, Shannon, girl. I love it. I feel like it's going to be slappy and a lot of fun.

02:38:11 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 2:

It is. It really will be.

02:38:13 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 1:

Tell us about you, Brianna. The last mom that we talked to a couple of hours ago when we did a qualifier has not been out of the house in a long time her life is just so hectic with working and the kids are are you somebody that uh we're gonna have to clean up at the end of the night after or

02:38:30 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 2:

will you be okay you know we'll see what happens who are you gonna bring with you i'm going to bring my best friend who's also mom she has not had a night out in a very long time Our kids are best friends. We both have a four-year-old. I also have a one-year-old and a brand-new puppy. So we are a great friend, and we cannot wait.

02:38:55 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. I love that. And by the way, the puppy counts as a baby right now because they require that amount of effort. Yeah. I get it.

02:39:04 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you know all the details about this, or do you want me to tell you?

02:39:08 - 02:39:09 | Unknown:

Please tell me.

02:39:09 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so May the 12th, it's the Friday before Mother's Day.

02:39:14 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 3:

It's a week from this Friday.

02:39:16 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 1:

Is it really that fast?

02:39:17 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes. It's next weekend. I don't have anything to do.

02:39:20 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 1:

So we are going to get together at the Daxton Hotel in downtown Birmingham. It's like a five-star gorgeous hotel. We are having all the moms meet there where we're going to have fun. We're going to have drinks. We're going to hang out. We're going to party. We're going to do all this stuff. And then if you're staying the night at the Daxton, obviously you can do what you want. If you want to go back and hang out at the bar there or go up to your room, whatever. Or you can take on, you know, the hanging out around that town, which the town is going to be fun. And then make it back and do what you got to do at the end of the night. Whether it be staying the night at the Daxton, which I hope that you do, you can get a room by winning it. from us which you're now qualified we'll pick the winner on friday okay or you can book a room by going to daxton hotel.com using mojo as the code to get you a special rate okay yeah all right no kids before we get oh my god well that's the fun of it and i tell this to a lot of the moms that have won this already because we haven't done naughty mom's night out since before covid The problem with not getting a room is you've got to go home, and then the next morning, those pains in the ass are going to wake you up.

02:40:33 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. There's no sleeping in.

02:40:36 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 1:

Getting a room, I mean, you've got it until checkout time, and then if you want to, you go to breakfast afterwards, and you can tell everybody that, you know, you can lie about whatever you want to do to not have to go home so fast. Okay?

02:40:51 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right.

02:40:53 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 1:

We'll see you there.

02:40:55 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, see you there. Thank you, guys.

02:40:57 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 1:

I got anxiety now that Shannon just said that. It's a week from Friday. Yeah.

02:41:01 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Do you have your outfit picked out?

02:41:02 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 1:

I didn't realize it. No, I don't have my outfit picked out, but I need to. I don't think it matters what I wear as much as it matters. I think the moms are the ones that always are looking for the outfits. The other day I was walking out of the building, and one of the moms who won was in the parking lot because she also won one of the hotel stays, and that's the only time that we make you actually come down here You have to pick up a certificate for your hotel stay or whatever. And she was so excited. And she brought like a friend and they were in the parking lot, you know, parking to go inside and talk to Crystal, our promotions director. And you could tell that this mom was ready for Mother's Day and Naughty Mom's night out now. So it was good. Megan, what is going on with you? You thought that you were going to be burglared?

02:41:49 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 2:

No, burgled.

02:41:51 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 1:

Why do I not know that I've ever heard that before, burgled?

02:41:54 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 2:

I love that word. Say it again.

02:41:57 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 1:

Burgled?

02:41:58 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 2:

It does sound like you're about to burp. Is it burgled?

02:42:00 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 1:

What is it?

02:42:02 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 2:

Burgled? That might be the fancy way. Use it in a sentence for me. I thought I was going to be burgled.

02:42:08 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 1:

That's what I just said, but I didn't say the word right. What was it? What happened?

02:42:14 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 2:

So I have a, by the way, 10 out of 10 would not recommend being a homeowner. It is absolutely the worst decision I've ever made. Just in case I haven't made that abundantly clear, don't do it. But I've been trying to get a whole bunch of trees removed and cleaned up in my yard. Specifically, three need to go in the backyard and two of them need to get cleaned up in the front yard. I say that because if you know somebody who works for a tree company, please let me know. I've contacted five, only heard back from one, and I'm not sure if I trust this individual. Because I gave him my address, which I should have been a little bit skeptical because so far all communications have taken place via text message, not, like, phone calls, not emails, just texts from a personal number. And I gave him my address. Again, second red flag for me. And then the third red flag to pop up is every time I say I'm at home, he can't make it to come give me an estimate. But if I'm not home, he says he's available. I believe I'm about to be burgled.

02:43:19 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 3:

So you think he's just, he's trying to learn your schedule to figure out when you're not going to be home so that he can come and steal everything that you have inside that house.

02:43:28 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Exactly. And I, fun fact, have nothing worth stealing, so good luck. I'm more worried. This happened to me when my car got broken into, right? This happened a long time ago. My window got smashed. The door was unlocked. All they had to do was open the door. My purse got stolen and it totaled my car because replacing the window was more expensive than anything else. Yeah. So I'm afraid if somebody breaks into my house, you're going to total my house because it's going to cost me more to fix the door than my house is worth.

02:44:00 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 1:

Burgled. To break into and steal from a home, a business, et cetera. Burglarized. Burgled is a British word. No wonder why I don't know it.

02:44:12 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

I think they use it in the Paddington Bear movies. Do they? Is where I've heard it before. That's how you heard it? Hugh Grant, yeah.

02:44:18 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 1:

Because I didn't hear it ever before until you just said that, so I had no idea.

02:44:22 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 2:

So instead of like, we've been robbed, or I'm going to get robbed.

02:44:25 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 1:

You're going to be burgled.

02:44:26 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to be burgled. It's a better word. It is.

02:44:28 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 1:

What is the story with tree trimmers and tree people? Tree people have the world by the balls. Yeah. They have Megan by her big old balls. Absolutely. Because she needs it so bad. She needs these guys to come out and do their thing, and they pretty much are playing hard to get with her because either they're so busy because there's been so many trees that have been down from all these storms, or there's not enough people that have chainsaws and, you know, those. you know things that you put the trees into that kind of uh turns them into uh to nothing

02:45:05 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 2:

your prices are ridiculous that's what i was just gonna say i had to have that done like two or three times since i moved into the house that i'm living in now and it is so ungodly expensive to have a tree removed or trimmed holy hell you know who uh tree trimmers

02:45:21 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 1:

are like tree trimmers are like the wet bandits from home depot that's what they're like they're like the they're like the two guys home alone i was really trying to i'm like wait i'm missing you're talking about the wet bandits from uh what did i say home improvement you said home depot

02:45:36 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 3:

home depot it's like they've gone through rehabilitation and they don't have full-time

02:45:41 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 1:

jobs from home alone i got i got the name of them right it's it's joe pesci and what was the other actor's name daniel stern daniel stern and they're the guys that come you know in a weird looking van that looks very shady they don't have a name on the side of the van they come out and they look like they're you know uh wearing somebody else's clothes what's going on amanda how you doing hi how are you guys we're doing good do you think megan's gonna be burgled

02:46:07 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 5:

she's gonna be okay yeah she will be okay when uh covet hit i decided i met this guy at the gym he's like do you want to do this little side gig which was literally working for a guy who takes trees down and i did it all summer and they are weird guys any guy who cuts a tree down they're weird so like everything with the quotes and the text that's exactly what he would do like he was always texting and then he would just go to your house and he would look at the tree like he would do a drive-by and then he would like text you and just give you the estimate and then that's literally how it would go and then they would pay him and then he would do it and then he did

02:46:44 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah they don't seem like one of the things that they don't seem like they don't seem like business many guys like they have they don't seem like they have business cards right uh they don't seem like they don't seem like they actually give you a receipt on anything other than where are you

02:46:59 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 5:

pulling these prices from these guys are like drug dealers oh he's totally winging it yeah the whole thing the guy's so unorganized i mean it really is what you're thinking it is like very unorganized he did i at one point after i started doing the physical work i'm like i cannot do this So then he was letting me help him with, like, doing quotes and stuff. And, like, I tried my best, but it was bad.

02:47:19 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 1:

I often thought to myself that if I liked manual labor, that that would be the job to do. Maybe I should actually put money towards finding people that will do it and just send people out there. Because you can actually, you can actually, you know, charge whatever you want. Yeah, okay, lady. And then you look at the house. Oh, that's a nice expensive house. I'll charge her like an arm and a leg and stuff for this.

02:47:46 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 5:

It's true, though.

02:47:47 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:47:48 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 5:

They do, and they make a lot of money, and then he goes on trips in the winter, you know?

02:47:51 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's it. He doesn't work during the winter. What's up, Spencer? How you doing? Oh, I lost you, Spencer. Spencer was a tree trimming guy, it looked like, here. I was going to comment from, I don't know if he was from Toledo, though. That's the other thing, too. If you're a tree trimmer or a tree guy, you've got to be from Toledo or at least Monroe in order to make it worth your while to go to Megan's house and steal her money. What's up, Jill?

02:48:14 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I think if every time she's not home, he's available, I think she should say she's not home but be home and see if he shows up.

02:48:24 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good idea. Play his bluff.

02:48:27 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 3:

But I don't know if you know this about me. I have anxiety.

02:48:32 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you're with your brother, right?

02:48:34 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but if he shows up, you know what's going to happen to me. I'm going to be laying on my hardwood floors for an hour until he leaves. It's just going to be me crawling around, peeking out the windows. I'm going to be crawling, looking through the windows.

02:48:44 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 1:

You know what you need to do is I've done this before with people. I wasn't home in time for my appointment, and I talked to them through my ring doorbell.

02:48:53 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. You're one of those too, right?

02:48:55 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

Because I don't need to necessarily walk outside with them and show them the trees. What I'll do is I'll talk to them either on the phone or through the ring doorbell, and then I'll tell them, you know, all right, talk to me a little bit about this, you know? Megan, try that. See if it works.

02:49:10 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I definitely think that he's up to something shady. Thank you.

02:49:14 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. What's the name of the company, too? Because that's the other thing. They always have names of companies, too. It's like Bob Tree Service.

02:49:20 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 2:

No, I was going to say, it's very simple. It is very simple. I'm not going to say. One, two, three. Yeah.

02:49:26 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Tree Cutting one, two, three. What's up? spencer's back with us hi spencer hey how's it going you actually have a person to do megan's

02:49:35 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 4:

trees or rob her yep yep i mean the one might do both i haven't talked to him in a while

02:49:42 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

but you know for you know for a fact that this particular person actually does

02:49:50 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 4:

trees for a living or are you just he owns a tree removal landscape company okay okay but is

02:49:56 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

license because that's a new thing I learned about.

02:50:00 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 2:

He's got to be licensed, too. He is fully licensed, insured. And insured. Yeah.

02:50:06 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 1:

I don't care if they're insured, necessarily.

02:50:08 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, until they drop a big limb on your house.

02:50:11 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 1:

See, I really, that's the other thing. I don't really care. As long as it drops and they take it with them.

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Goes right through your roof.

02:50:17 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 1:

No, take it with, what I'll do is I'll tell the insurance company that a tree fell down in a storm or something. I won't even tell on you at that particular time. But I want these people actually just to show up for the appointment at that point. I don't care what it is. The most interesting thing is, Spencer, and I don't know if this is the guy that you're talking about, when the tree trimming guy shows up and he's got missing fingers. Does your guy have all of his fingers? When they show up and they have missing fingers, you're like, that's the guy I want.

02:50:50 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 2:

That is dedication right there.

02:50:51 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 1:

He kept his job. He didn't file for workman's comp because he didn't want to work anymore. What's the name of the tree trimming guy, or do you want to tell us off the air?

02:51:00 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 2:

Me? No, Spencer. The one in Toledo area there is Outdoor Inspiration. I used to work for them for a lot of years. He's really good.

02:51:10 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, hold on. Talk to us off the air and see if you can give more information to Megan. It's a very lovely name for a tree trimming company.

02:51:16 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 3:

Outdoor Inspiration.

02:51:18 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 1:

It almost kind of sounds like a health spa or something, you know?

02:51:23 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

Your laugh, by the way, is phenomenal

02:51:26 - 02:52:41 | Speaker 1:

I don't have much time Because I'm looking at the time right now It looks like we need to get out of here So I just want to do a couple of these stories Because I think that this is an interesting one Did you hear the person that's on TikTok Who's claiming that they are a self-declared Swifty by the name of Phoebe, who has captioned her post noting that that heterosexual men who don't like Taylor Swift are likely guys who don't like women in general. So Phoebe says, if you don't like or respect Taylor Swift for what she has done in her career and what she is as a woman, then you are a misogynist if you're a man. And that is a huge red flag and women need to run from any male that does not like Taylor Swift. Do you like Taylor Swift? Not particularly. So I guess I might be in this category here. I like her. No, I like Taylor Swift's music.

02:52:41 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 2:

You're not a Swifty person. And there's songs.

02:52:43 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm definitely not a Swifty, but I also feel like Taylor Swift gets A lot of special treatment that other artists Don't get because She plays hardcore Like has her people go after you You know But if you were checking the

02:52:58 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 2:

If you had to pick yes or no You'd check yes Let me say this to you

02:53:03 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 1:

I like Taylor Swift's music that's not music That's going to depress me Like that last album that she had that was all Like the folklore type music and stuff That music kind of stunk This stuff actually is not bad And I like her early stuff I could listen to Blank Spaces Like over and over and over again It's in one of my favorites I like that song I also like Love Story Like that's a good song I like Antihero which is a good song

02:53:28 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say are you ready for that I actually love Antihero

02:53:31 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh it's a great song Such a good song But I'm not necessarily thinking that this is actually a truth in this If you're a guy and you don't like Taylor Swift I don't think that a woman should look at that guy As being misogynistic or being a bad guy to women.

02:53:46 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 3:

You know what's a really good green flag, though? If you're a guy that likes Harry Styles, it's an automatic green flag.

02:53:52 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 1:

Is it a green flag?

02:53:54 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:53:54 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 1:

Purely? Like, would you ever worry about the fact that he...

02:53:58 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, no. No?

02:54:00 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm just wondering about that.

02:54:03 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 3:

You men are so weird about what you can and cannot like without other people perceiving you.

02:54:08 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. It's not being straight. Just asking that question for a friend. um this is a scary story the u.s could default on its debt as soon as june 1st if congress doesn't act so says the treasury secretary janet yellen she said on monday that if they don't come up with some kind of an agreement between the you know house and senate and the president that we actually may default on the money that we owe. And if they do, it would spiral the U.S. and the world into the worst recession ever. According to reports this morning, though, the president has reached out to congressional leaders to have them to the White House, which is good, too, and it's a bipartisan group, so maybe they'll come up with something.

02:54:55 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how I passed social studies class because I'm going to ask a really...

02:55:00 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 5:

dumb question that I legitimately don't think I know the answer to. Who do we owe money to?

02:55:05 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 4:

We owe money to...

02:55:07 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 5:

But that's my question. When I hear stuff like this,

02:55:10 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, I don't get it.

02:55:11 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 6:

I feel like an idiot, but I don't get it. But we take money from private investors here and they loan it out intentionally knowing that we're probably going to default, which is kind of a bad spiral that we get into. But there are a lot of just private individuals who they're so wealthy they can loan our

02:55:28 - 02:55:33 | Speaker 4:

government money. Well, don't we also like some of those names are like the Rockefellers and all the rest of those people like that.

02:55:33 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to have a boring discussion about this. I guess my thing is then if we go into the worst recession ever, it's going to affect those individuals greatly as well.

02:55:44 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 6:

They have so much money it doesn't matter. This is a way for them to control legislation and get things put in their favor. It's scary that it happens And it's scary to stop it And it's scary to continue it It's like a no-win situation

02:56:03 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 4:

With that in mind, another bank collapsed First Republic Bank The second largest U.S. bank Second largest U.S. bank Failed and now are going to be taken over By it looks like the president was able to convince Chase J.P. Morgan Chase to take over uh president biden has ended the vaccine mandates for federal uh workers and for international flyers so no more will you as of may 11th have to worry about getting a covid shot if you do work for the government or if you are somebody traveling from another country have you guys been following the story about the texas fugitive that is accused of killing five people yeah and

02:56:52 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 6:

Can't identify him?

02:56:53 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 4:

They say that he's been on the run. The suspect has been on the run since Friday night when he was out firing a rifle on his property. And his neighbors came over and said something to him. And then he ended up killing this family that was living in the house. Including an 8-year-old. They're saying that he has been here in the United States illegally, was deported five times. They're now not knowing where he is. Some are saying that they believe that he possibly went over the border of Mexico and is gone by now. since he hasn't been found. Although yesterday there was what they thought was a sighting of him. I think it was a false alarm, but they said somebody that looked like him. The godfather of AI, the guy who actually they say is the pioneer in artificial intelligence, just quit late yesterday Google so that he can warn people about how bad AI is. This is like a movie, isn't it? It's like the person that invents, you know, something only to have his invention come back and end up doing some very, very bad things. Like ruining the world. This guy is interesting because he's now saying that he thinks that AI could take over the world and misinformation.

02:58:10 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 3:

This morning, as companies race to integrate artificial intelligence into our everyday lives, one man behind that technology has resigned from Google after more than a decade. Dr. Jeffrey Hinton, known as the godfather of artificial intelligence, says he stepped down so he can freely discuss the dangers of AI. He tells the New York Times he's worried about artificial intelligence taking jobs from people and also misinformation, with fake videos, photos, and texts saying the average person will not be able to know what is true anymore, and he warns it is hard to see how you can prevent the bad actors from using it for bad things. He joins a growing list of industry experts calling for regulation. Elon Musk tweeting just yesterday, even benign dependency on AI automation is dangerous to civilization if taken so far that we eventually forget how the machines work.

02:59:02 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 1:

It is, I think, actually a bigger risk to society than cars or planes or medicine.

02:59:10 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 3:

One recent breakthrough? A non-invasive AI system that can turn our thoughts into text, saying it could one day help people who've lost their ability to speak due to a stroke or paralysis. Researchers have also found AI can more efficiently and effectively identify cancer, and we've already seen how programs like ChatGPT can write speeches, answer complex questions, and even passed the bar exam. The CEO of the company behind ChatGPT says the advancements are exciting, but also terrifying.

02:59:39 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 2:

Part of the exciting thing here is we get continually surprised by the creative power of all of society. All these guys sound creepy. We're surprised, though. It's both exhilarating as well as terrifying to people. I think people should be happy that we're a little bit scared of this.

02:59:56 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 4:

The people like Elon Musk and the guy that actually runs...

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 6:

the chat GPT, they do that. By the way.

03:00:05 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but has nobody watched Ex Machina? We know how this turns out.

03:00:08 - 03:00:09 | Speaker 6:

I have not. I have not either.

03:00:10 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 7:

Has nobody watched it? Yes. How does it turn out?

03:00:15 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 6:

What does it do? Does it come back on us?

03:00:16 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 7:

Spoiler alert. The movie's like 15 years old, so I don't think I'm ruining anything here. But a guy creates a machine, is trying to integrate it with human life, so he brings humans in,

03:00:26 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 2:

and the machine goes, I'm crazy. By the way, would you want your thoughts to be written out? Because I would not. No. I understand they're trying to use it for good here. Not right now. But some of the stuff I think, like, oh, I'm ashamed of myself. I know. I don't want anybody to know. Do you get a private screen first that you can edit?

03:00:45 - 03:00:45 | Unknown:

Right.

03:00:46 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 6:

And last story I want to do, because this one's too good. Skinny jeans can cause cellulite. cellulite is a skin condition causing you to have lumpy dimple flesh on your thighs, your hips, your butt and sometimes your stomach well medical estheticians and skin care experts are saying that they believe wearing tight jeans or tight clothing actually is the cause of it that it causes you to have a little bit of disfiguration when it comes to that otherwise known as the cellulite Oh, great. So, a lot of cellulite going on around here. And the Jonas Brothers just announced a tour. Are you ready for this? Are we excited to see the Jonas Brothers again? I don't know. Jonas Brothers will be touring this summer, and they will be coming to Little Caesars Arena August the 24th. The public on sale is Friday May the 12th at 10am I know there's a lot of Jonas Brothers fans So we gotta get those tickets And we gotta make sure we give those away But there you go So Jonas Brothers coming Another show coming to town Seems like everybody's touring these days Have a great day Anything that you guys want to mention before today's show anything that you liked from today's show that you'd like people to go back and make sure that they listen to if they missed it?

03:02:21 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

03:02:22 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 6:

Nothing. War of the Roses was good.

03:02:24 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 2:

War of the Roses was so good. What you saw at the car wash, honestly, is still blowing my mind. That's a great one.

03:02:33 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 6:

How about the crazy house people, the people that go into open houses and...

03:02:36 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 2:

And live there.
