00:02:13 - 00:02:16 | Speaker 6:

I am kind of a wimpy Cuban guy, you know what I mean?

00:02:16 - 00:02:20 | Speaker 1:

I eat half an Oreo with the cream scraped off and I gain another butt cheek, just like that.

00:02:21 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 7:

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mojo in the Morning. It's showtime!

00:04:34 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 7:

if you

00:04:36 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 6:

weren't with us the other day or didn't hear the podcast of Shannon and I giving KP a little grief over the fact that we'll all pull up into the parking lot at the same time and She will race into the radio station As to not have to wait And hold the door for us

00:04:54 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 3:

That's not the reason

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Yes But she did today And actually You know the funny thing

00:05:00 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

was and i did not do this on purpose you took forever i was taking forever because i was on the phone with uh joe my son joe from the joe show who's uh morning show on flz is also uh at the same time and we were talking on the way into work today and we were in into a conversation i'm slowly getting out of the car and i'm kind of like slowly walking in and i see kp just standing there going okay i wanted to hold the door open for you so you can't minute of my life but it It might have been longer than a minute.

00:05:29 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 4:

And did it set you back of all of your duties before the show? Because you said that was the reason you race in here. Today, I'm light on duties.

00:05:37 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 1:

That's why. That's a good day. Yeah. All right. Well, it was very nice. Thank you so much for doing that. It was kind. It almost made me want to just stand there and just kind of bask in it a little bit.

00:05:51 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 4:

You should have taken a picture. He did. He had Lydia take a picture.

00:05:53 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

Lydia pulled up. I said, hold on, KP. Maybe we have to wait here for a little bit until Lydia gets out of her car because I wanted to make sure we held the door open for her. And then Lydia, will you take a picture of this?

00:06:02 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Lydia showed up after Mojo and she got to the door before him. You guys, did you see all the poop all over the sidewalk? What is that?

00:06:08 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 4:

Is that goose poop? It's goose poop. What is that? It's everywhere. So nasty.

00:06:14 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

Where are these geese at? Where are these gooses? Yes.

00:06:18 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, but it's like you're playing hopscotch trying to walk from the parking lot

00:06:23 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

into the building because there's so much poop. The funny thing about it was I thought it was, I honestly thought it was something else other than, I thought maybe somebody brought their dog or something. Because if this is just from one particular goose.

00:06:38 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he had some Mexican food. His tummy was bothering him.

00:06:43 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 1:

This goose has got themselves a little bit of a digestive situation going on right now. Because for those that, you know, can't visualize this, visualize like a large dog that just leaves a big old mound every couple of feet so that you have to. It's almost kind of like you have to, like, play a contest or something to get around this. Is this the time, by the way? Is this the time that they all come back from down south?

00:07:14 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I don't know. I got out of my car and went, what is all this crap? Oh, it's literally crap.

00:07:21 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The worst is, have you ever been pooped on by a goose?

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 4:

By a goose?

00:07:27 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Or some big bird or whatever. Like, I was out on a buddy's boat. We were on his pontoon boat just sitting there drinking. And the thing was flying right over us and literally just, like, pooped right on top of us. Yeah. It was awful. And I felt so bad Because one of the people that we were with This lady She's not a lady Her name is Debbie But she literally got right into her drink As she's drinking So she's drinking It gets right into her drink And then went right into her mouth At that particular time Yeah, it was gross The weather is supposedly supposed to change tomorrow So today I think we have one last day Of this crap And then tomorrow we're supposed to warm up a little bit And then I think they even said That we might even see the sun by this weekend So I'm not supposed to be in this

00:08:22 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 4:

No, next week is nice

00:08:25 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

You're the only person that wants this weather Everybody has been complaining Over the course of the last You know, five or six days That we've never seen rain this many days in a row And horribly cold weather To start off in May Megan's been loving this moment

00:08:40 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Megan, are you in your like Twilight-esque feels. Babe, give me the blue filter on my life. I am ready for it.

00:08:50 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? Is this like you're a vampire and this is why you like this thing so much?

00:08:56 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

She's not a vampire. She's a millennial Eeyore. Remember? Somebody gave her that name. It's the best name, Megan.

00:09:03 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you, my dad wants to make shirts. In case you're wondering, I got a really nasty comment online calling me a millennial Eeyore. It was supposed to be mean. But I found it hysterical. I want you to know my family has been laughing about this for weeks. And I'm pretty sure my dad is going to make me a shirt that says Millennial Eeyore for Christmas. Like, you thought you were hurting us, but you created a lifelong joke in my family. So first of all, thank you.

00:09:30 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Second of all, you know what this weather is to me, though? This is why I love it. It is the perfect reading weather. It is the perfect. Pull up with a blanket near a window. It's bright outside, but it's still cozy.

00:09:45 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 3:

Girl, when did you have time to read? You were in the car for four hours yesterday. Yeah, I was. I literally wanted to drive off the side of the road yesterday without my day was going.

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what was it? You were driving to a laundromat to do a sales promo thing?

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was going up to Skyler laundromat, but I was in Waterford. And I love Waterford, but it's a little bit of a hike from my house.

00:10:07 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 1:

So from Toledo to Waterford, what does it take you?

00:10:10 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, there it took an hour and a half. On the way back, it took over two hours.

00:10:16 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez, because of traffic going home?

00:10:18 - 00:10:18 | Unknown:

Mm-hmm.

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:10:19 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm. And I was losing my mind. Yeah. I was losing my mind. And then all of you Michiganders, I appreciate the way that you know how to use the fast lane. Don't get me wrong. But y'all drive like maniacs and then total your cars and then you block both lanes of traffic. So thanks for that.

00:10:38 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Do you know what today is, by the way? This is actually perfect for today. Today is the great grump out. What? The great American grump out.

00:10:49 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

It's my day to shine.

00:10:51 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 1:

Celebrated on May the 3rd every single year. This is the day that takes place where you're supposed to get the grump out of you. Interesting.

00:11:01 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I didn't want to get it out of me. I wanted to like harness the power and bring it in.

00:11:05 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 1:

What sounds like a day to be grumpy, it's actually not. It's a day to get the grump out, according to the people in Spread Happy Vibes.

00:11:15 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

How do they suggest getting the grump out?

00:11:16 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, they actually, it seems like they seem to believe that food will do it for you. They say, get yourself a big old bowl of breakfast cereal that you normally would not eat on a day like today. Enjoy that to kind of get your mood going. And then as the day goes on, call yourself out for being grumpy over the past few months. It's a way to get the winter out of you and get the, you know, I guess the newfound feels of what summer will be. But that's kind of an interesting one. The great grump out. What were you talking about before the show? and I know we planned on talking about it later, but maybe we can segue to now. What were you talking about with April, KP?

00:11:56 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 3:

April theory. It's a theory that life starts getting really good after April.

00:12:01 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Really? So in April, you're kind of transferring.

00:12:08 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like people start to get new jobs. They meet new people, start new relationships. And I feel like, for me, life always starts to get good after April. Like, do you feel better? and i i honestly feel like part of its seasonal depression we're all just sad girls yeah but and guys uh but no i feel like april theory is legit i think it's a real thing i've been seeing a few

00:12:29 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

videos about april theory and i've also been seeing a lot of people asking what is april theory and i don't have an exact definition as to what april theory is but i've definitely talked about this and tweeted about this and a lot of people can relate so listen up winter depression girlies because this theory is going to be something you're going to want to study. Basically, April theory is the whole concept that April is the month that life starts to get good. I don't know why, but like clockwork, April is the month that the ball starts to get rolling. And if you notice in a lot of religions, the new year, what, starts in March and seasons, spring is starting.

00:13:10 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so wait a second. So are we late on this because it's already May?

00:13:13 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, technically the first day of spring is in March, but it does not get good in March yet because people could still see.

00:13:20 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 1:

Because if that's the case, honestly, this has been a really crappy April for us.

00:13:24 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

It's supposed to be end of April. Classes are finishing.

00:13:28 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:13:28 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 3:

The month where it starts, like things start to get better. Well, it hasn't gotten better. Well, April's over.

00:13:34 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 1:

My grump is coming back out right now on this one here.

00:13:37 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 3:

I know. You started it really late. That girl was like repeating everything.

00:13:41 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know what it is too? Listening to a TikTok on your phone is okay because you're watching the video. Listening to the audio on a radio show, you hate that every five seconds it stops. You know what I mean? That gives me the grump on this one.

00:13:54 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I have no attention span for that TikTok. I felt like it was dragging and repeating everything I just said.

00:14:01 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know, but you told me that it was on the TikTok, so I just wanted to play it. But honestly, I will say this to you guys, just the last two days. the last two days have just been downer days and honestly i've done a little group therapy with people that i've run into like i yesterday went out to lunch with shannon talked to somebody at the restaurant about it um then i had to go to the mall and go do some stuff for luke and i'll talk about that later this morning because we had to get him like a stuff for his prom that's coming up and everybody i talked to like i would just blatantly be like because you know how everybody asks you the proverbial hey how are you doing and they never really want you to answer it right

00:14:42 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

have you ever answered it i was gonna say honestly and say i'm actually not doing that great right now well they don't even know what to say or do i've done that before and shocked people like

00:14:52 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 1:

where people will be oh how are you doing i'm like i'm not really doing great okay great thanks and they'll do like that just out of habit yesterday See you next week.

00:15:00 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 4:

people started having group therapy sessions with me. Like people legitimately, when I said to them, honestly, you really want to know the answer? And they're like, yeah. I'm like, it sucks. I can't stand this weather anymore. I can't stand, you know, the mood that's out there. I can't stand the fact that the world is angry. You know, I can't stand all this stuff. Everybody opened up to me about the same thing. And maybe because I was also around a lot of people that are in the service industry and they get pelted with that every single day. But it was unbelievably therapeutic for people. Like, people started thanking me afterwards. Like, I did it to four different people, and the last two people said to me, thank you so much for, you know, hearing me out on this, because I heard them out on what their struggles were. And then there's Megan, who for some reason finds that this is, like, the greatest weather in the world. And she's...

00:15:52 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 1:

You don't get sweaty. You're not freezing. It's just cozy.

00:15:56 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe, by the way, that you actually have people that agree with you. A texter here, 589, says, oh, my God, I'm with Megan. I love this weather. I don't know why people are so upset about it. I hate summertime, and I hate the sun. Who are you people?

00:16:11 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, seriously. What is that? We're people that burn in the sun.

00:16:15 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 4:

Edward Cullen, good grief. Oh, my God.

00:16:19 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 5:

This is going to have a killer, Bella.

00:16:21 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Like, honestly, I was looking for prizes.

00:16:24 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 6:

You've got to be fast.

00:16:25 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 4:

I was looking for prizes to give away because, you know, who doesn't?

00:16:28 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. We got to snort.

00:16:32 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 4:

I was thinking to myself, I'm like, we should give away. Can we give away, like, therapy? Because we talked about it on our podcast yesterday. Yeah. Like, could it be possible that we could actually have, we'll give you therapy and Prozac. And there you go. Call number nine. What's going on, Zaline?

00:16:47 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hi.

00:16:48 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up?

00:16:50 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I am honestly going through it, too. I just wanted to let you know that, Mojo. You're not the only one.

00:16:56 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 4:

It's brutal, isn't it? And I know today's the grump out, and we're supposed to get the grump out, but maybe we need to, like, get some therapy going here, right?

00:17:04 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, definitely. I mean, even those, like, you know those places where you can go and just, like, smash stuff? Oh, yes.

00:17:13 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 6:

Let's all go. Wait a second. Yes, that is a great idea.

00:17:17 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I just need that right now.

00:17:19 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 4:

Let's do it. And you know what we're going to smash? We're going to smash Megan's phone Because we're going to make sure That she doesn't ever say that she likes this Weather ever again right

00:17:29 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 5:

Right oh my gosh It's so depressing I know

00:17:33 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 4:

What's up Mindy

00:17:34 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi good morning isn't it a beautiful day

00:17:37 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh Megan this is one of yours right here Oh what a beautiful Morning What do you like about this weather

00:17:47 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah Uh, well, probably because I have a dark soul.

00:17:55 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, you can join the crowd because you got somebody here that also has the dark soul with you.

00:18:01 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 5:

That's all right. All right. We'll enjoy it together.

00:18:04 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day. Enjoy this. Bye, Mindy. Bye. How smart are you?

00:18:10 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:18:16 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 4:

It was the year that President Barack Obama was inaugurated as the President of the United States.

00:18:22 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 1:

Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

00:18:29 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 4:

Becoming the first African American president and the 44th President of the United States, Jersey Shores premiered on MTV.

00:18:37 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 6:

It's a bitch. I'm so annoyed. Where's the bitch?

00:18:43 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 4:

And the big song. There you go. That picks me up a little bit. From the Black Eyed Peas. What year was it? We'll set you up the prize.

00:18:59 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 3:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:19:15 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 4:

It was the year that President Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States.

00:19:20 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 1:

Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

00:19:28 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Jersey Shore premiered on MTV.

00:19:31 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Where the f*** is the beach?

00:19:34 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm so annoyed. Where's the beach?

00:19:40 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 3:

Where else for the beach?

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh my god, oh my god, the beach's so bad.

00:19:43 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 4:

And the big song from the Black Eyed Peas, I Got a Feeling. What year was it, Gabby?

00:19:51 - 00:19:51 | Speaker 5:

2009.

00:19:51 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 4:

It was 2009. Congratulations. Oh, hold on. That was the wrong button. I was locking you in the soundproof area for...

00:20:00 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 3:

The 5 and 6.55. There you go. Congratulations. We're setting you up with the prize. I know there's so many 2008 guesses because everybody thought that that was the year for President Barack Obama, but the inauguration always happens right after the first year. The next year. Yeah. Hey, congrats. You got tickets to go to AEW All Elite Wrestling at Little Caesars Arena on May the 10th. Tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.com. Congrats.

00:20:24 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you.

00:20:25 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 3:

By the way, all the vampires are coming out. I don't know how you feel about this, but you heard us talk when we kicked off the show about the weather. But everybody now is saying how great this weather is.

00:20:34 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. I'm a summer baby, and I need my sun. I need the vitamin D. It makes me happy. What is it like to be a tan goddess? Well, seeing as how I'm also Mexican, like, yes, I need the sun, but because of winter, I get super, super pale.

00:20:51 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 3:

You've had a head start on that, and that's not fair.

00:20:53 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 2:

How dare you? Just a little bit.

00:20:55 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 3:

Love you. Hold on one second, okay?

00:20:56 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 2:

All right. Thank you.

00:20:58 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 3:

00:21:23 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:21:25 - 00:21:30 | Speaker 3:

All right, guys. Shannon's first of the morning. What's going on in the Dirty on the 30?

00:21:30 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, the Hollywood writer's strike. Let's start with that. I did just find out that SNL is canceling its upcoming episode with Pete Davidson returning to host this weekend with musical guest Lil Uzi Vert. And they're going to cancel possibly some future episodes as well. I noticed yesterday there was a picket line outside of the Paramount Studios soundstage. And several celebrities were there in support of the Writers Guild of America. Natasha Lyonne, Rob Lowe is hanging out. His son is a big writer in Hollywood.

00:22:00 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 1:

Why are you out here today? I'd support the writers. Without the writers, we have nothing. My son is on the picket line today. I am very proud of him. We've got to solve it and go back to work.

00:22:09 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 2:

Jimmy Fallon also commenting on the strike yesterday.

00:22:13 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't have a show for my writers, and I support them all the way. They've got to have a fair contract.

00:22:18 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 1:

If there is a strike, do you go dark?

00:22:20 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think we will, yeah. I think we'll go dark. Whatever I can do to support the guild, I am actually in the Writers Guild as well.

00:22:29 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Interesting that he said that because one of his staff members begs to differ. She says, Jimmy is all talk. He's just trying to come off as a nice guy here. Her name is Sarah Kobos. She's a senior photo research coordinator on Jimmy's talk show. And she just ripped him a new one yesterday on social media as the writer's strike began. And she said he wasn't even at the meeting this morning to tell us we're not getting paid after this week. She tagged Jimmy in a tweet that said, tagged Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Fallon, please support your staff. Had fun bowling with you last week, but a fun party won't pay my rent. Wow. Yeah.

00:23:05 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:23:06 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Jimmy Fallon and more of Mojo in the Morning coming up next.

00:23:09 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 2:

That's a hard place for him to be in.

00:23:11 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, I thought you were talking about that little line.

00:23:14 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, especially since he's a member of the guild as well. Right. Yeah.

00:23:17 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I like that these guys are going out there on the picket line and doing this. I think that that that is good. But if you're like one of those people, like if you're, you know, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon and stuff like that, if you are pressured by the network to have to come back to work and do that, do you have the guts to be able to say, I'm not coming back? Like, do you have it?

00:23:40 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 2:

Because I'm standing in solidarity with my staff.

00:23:42 - 00:24:02 | Speaker 3:

The last time that this happened, there were some people that that were pressured to go back. And I think there was I don't know if it was somebody, maybe Jon Stewart from The Daily show or something like that i don't know who was and they came back and caught so much grief but had great ratings yeah so yeah taylor swift has 10 albums currently on the billboard 200

00:24:02 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

albums chart she is making history for that among those 10 albums nine are in the top 50 eight sit in the top 40 and three are in the top 10 so this makes taylor the first living female artist with at least three albums simultaneously in the top ten. The only act to have at least eight albums in the top 40 and the only living artist with at least ten albums in the top 100. Setting lots of records there. Mojo, I think we need to call Aunt Pat this morning. Why's that? Big, big news. Dancing with the Stars coming home to ABC for season 32 after airing for just one season on Disney+. She was so upset about that. I know she was. So now it's going to simulcast across both ABC and Disney Plus. It's going to be available the following day on Hulu as well. And remember some changes to the hosting lineup. Tyra Banks announced she was exiting the show after three seasons. Replacing her is Julianne Hough.

00:25:00 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 3:

who's very familiar with the ballroom. She will be co-hosting with Fresh Prince Bel-Air alum and fellow Mirror Ball winner Alfonso Ribeiro, who joined the show last season. And lastly, it was announced at the very end of the show yesterday, but just in case you missed it, the Jonas Brothers announced a summer-fall North American headlining tour. It's called the Five Albums One Night, the tour. It's going to kick off in early August. Yes, it is making a stop in Detroit. You can get good tickets by registering through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan Presale, which is open now through Saturday. And then I know tickets will go on sale to the general public after that. But if you're a Jonas Brothers fan, this is big news to you. You can see all the dates, by the way, and check out all of today's Dirty on the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:25:51 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up, guys? It's Joe Jonas waking up with Mojo in the Morning on Channel 955.

00:25:55 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and that's an accent cast.

00:26:00 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Cheating is no accident. Stubbing your toe is an accident. You don't accidentally run into somebody's privates. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:26:24 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, ciao. got a lot coming up this morning on the show if you would like to say hello always feel free to send us a text at 95500 or call 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if you do by the way when we're in the midst of talking about something and you've got something to add and you do send us a text answer your phone when you get a call back from like a number that may say out of the area or may say iHeart because that might be us calling to ask you to come on the air and talk to us so we'd love you to do so uh it's mojo on the morning show so yesterday i ended up having to uh get out i didn't get home until 5 30 6 o'clock something like that um left in the morning came home really late had a really nice lunch with shannon we'll talk about that coming up here in just a little bit. And then I ended up having to meet my son, Luke, out to go get him a thing to wear for two proms and a graduation. So I had to figure out how to go about doing this. He's Mr. Popular two proms. Isn't that crazy? Well, first off, I did not know this, but the kids at his school don't like wearing tuxes to prom. They just like wearing suits to prom. So there was like no tuxes. So I was kind of like looking forward to the idea of going and just renting a tuxedo.

00:27:56 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:27:57 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean?

00:27:58 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 3:

Because I remember going to President Tuxedo. President Tuxedo.

00:28:03 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Was that what the jingle was back in the day?

00:28:05 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 3:

I think it was. And you would have to match. I remember going with my high school boyfriend and I would want his cummerbund. Is that what it's called?

00:28:12 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think so, yeah.

00:28:13 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 3:

Comparable in his bow tie to match my dress, so I would bring a little swatch from my dress. Yeah. You were such nerds.

00:28:20 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 2:

He wanted, so he wanted just a black suit, and I said to him, I go, well, you know, because he's really mysterious about who he's going to prom with or if he's asking anybody to prom or what he's doing. And I said, do you have a date? And he says, yeah, Dad, I got a date. I'm sorry, his voice. Yeah, Dad, I got a date. And I said to him, I go, oh, okay. And he goes, yeah, and I got, I'm going to her prom too. And I go, oh, you're going to her prom too. So she's not somebody from your school. And he says, no. And Luke goes to a Catholic school and I said, well, where does she go? And she goes, he wouldn't tell me where she goes. He goes, the public school.

00:28:56 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 3:

And I'm like, oh, you're taking the public school girl with you.

00:29:03 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 2:

And, uh, and I said, so what do we have to do as far as colors are concerned? And he goes green. So for some reason she's wearing something green. I'm not saying it's for some reason, because I don't know what I, but she's wearing green, which is perfect, because that's his school colors, because he goes to Notre Dame, and I said, okay, so you want a black suit, we're going to get a black suit for that, and I'm trying to figure out how to change things up, and he gives me nothing. Parents know this, honestly, if you're somebody that's Luke's age, or you're 17 years old, you know this. You hate talking to your parents. You know what I mean?

00:29:35 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean you want to change it up?

00:29:37 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, because-

00:29:38 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 3:

Like, you want to get them something different?

00:29:39 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, he's going to her prom, so he's going to wear the same thing to both proms. Uh-huh. Because I don't think she's going to wear the same thing. But a suit to suit. Right. I understand that. But do you change the shirt up? Do you change the ties up?

00:29:51 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 3:

What do you do? You know what I mean? Oh. I don't think there was that much available in terms of ... Well, thanks for telling me now.

00:29:57 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. No, I really didn't. I didn't know.

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Unknown:

But like you said, matching ties ...

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 2:

and stuff like that.

00:30:01 - 00:30:02 | Speaker 4:

So they still do that?

00:30:02 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, they do, yes. I think they do.

00:30:03 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:30:04 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 2:

So, long story short, I say, well, who's this girl and what's going on? He goes, tell me if you think this might be a load of crap. He tells me she doesn't have an Instagram. Okay. It's a load of crap. What? What? Come on. What? What 17-year-old or 18-year-old Does not have an Instagram

00:30:31 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 3:

One that doesn't want you to look at it

00:30:33 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 2:

Exactly So he won't do Okay because I said to him Who is she We've never met her we don't know her We have no clue about her I have nothing about this Smart kid And honestly I started thinking back to myself And I started thinking when I used to make up Fictitious girlfriends all the time And I thought oh my god maybe he's got a fictitious girlfriend Maybe this is like his, you know, I'm dating, you know, and don't say Nancy from the Chicago Bulls, Lovables thing, because that's a true story. I swear to you.

00:31:06 - 00:31:09 | Speaker 3:

And also, two days in a row, great word choice.

00:31:10 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 2:

Which, what did I say? Fictitious. Fictitious. Thank you, Megan.

00:31:13 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 3:

Good word. We are an educational program. I don't want to hear anything different. Burgled. Burgled.

00:31:20 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 2:

That was actually a good one, too, yesterday, Megan.

00:31:22 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so did he show you a picture of this girl eventually, or what? Does she exist?

00:31:26 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 2:

So we are at the mall, we went to Somerset and we were at the mall and we're doing the shopping thing. And I was really, you know, having a good moment with him and, you know, kind of being like low key. I didn't want to be like pushy dad and pain in the butt dad. So I didn't press it. And then we went home afterwards and we were hanging out and Chelsea made dinner and we sat down at dinner and he showed Chelsea and I a picture of this girl, of public school girl, I'll call her. and I don't even know what her name is because he won't tell us her name because he knows I will look her up or I will have one of you guys look her up on social media but very pretty girl so very pretty girl I don't know what the story is I have no clue he doesn't share anything are there any teenager teenagers going to school right now whatever who will not tell their parents who they're dating or who they're going on a date with what is the story with this why would you not me. It's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning here.

00:32:26 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm a... You just answered your own damn question. Why? Because it's our show. We're literally talking about it right now. Would you be embarrassed

00:32:34 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 2:

if I was your dad? Yes. Why? Because I would talk about it on the radio?

00:32:39 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 3:

Yes, and you'd call him.

00:32:41 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 2:

No. Well, he had a... He's done with school, so he had a sleepover at a buddy's house last night, so I'm not going to call him there because he's probably sleeping still. Are you going to meet this girl?

00:32:49 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 4:

Aren't they going to do pictures or something? I would hope so. So you will meet her.

00:32:51 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would hope so.

00:32:53 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're going to have to be on your best behavior.

00:32:55 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to try.

00:32:56 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 4:

Do you need a chaperone? Is Chelsea going to be with you? Chelsea will be there.

00:32:58 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea's actually good about, you know, keeping me in line and not giving me too much crap. You know, she doesn't, she's good at towing the line of not making me feel like crap, but also not embarrassing Luke. Like, she's a good mom when it comes to that, and she's a great wife when it comes to that. But I will say this to you. I know that somebody has info out there That can give me some info And I want to know what the info is Alright here's the question I want to ask Why are you so mysterious With the person that you're dating And your parents Why will you not tell your parents about that Like you know who else is a mysterious person About the person that they're dating and stuff Some of the people on this radio show

00:33:39 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh

00:33:40 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 2:

We're all looking at the same person

00:33:42 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 4:

Wink wink

00:33:43 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 2:

Kristen

00:33:45 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 4:

A.K.A.K.P.

00:33:49 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:39:10 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. We were just talking, and we've got five lies to tell your mom coming up here in a second. We were just talking to everybody here on the show. I guess I wasn't talking to anybody but you guys, but you guys are good people. So I love you guys.

00:39:29 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 2:

Thanks. Appreciate that.

00:39:30 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 1:

We were talking about how my son will not tell me anything. Like he won't give me any information and he's going to prom with a date, but I have no information about who this date is or what it's all about. Connie, are you there?

00:39:44 - 00:39:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm here.

00:39:45 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

How you doing, Connie? How old are you, Connie?

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 2:

I am 29 years old.

00:39:50 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So were you like this?

00:39:52 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I in the beginning I was but I have like cousins and friends that are like

00:40:00 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 3:

and they want your approval so they don't want to disappoint you because I know my parents have high expectations. Yeah. So they just don't want to, they want your approval all the time. I give

00:40:12 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 1:

him my approval all the time. I always approve of anything that he does. Do you think he won't

00:40:16 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 3:

approve of this girl and that's why he's being so secretive? Maybe, maybe, or he thinks you're going to announce it on the radio. I think it's that. It's the latter. Yeah. I think it's, he

00:40:28 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 2:

He knows that Mojo is, you know, has a thing for asking lots of questions and sharing to, you know, only a million people or so.

00:40:37 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 3:

Or he doesn't know if this is going to be long term, so it's not even worth getting to know.

00:40:42 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I'm going to meet her when we do the pictures. Yeah. Julie, what's going on?

00:40:47 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. Hey, what's up? Hey, everybody. Hey. Good morning. I was laughing so hard because this literally just happened to me last year. My son was a senior, and he is very secretive. So it's hard for me because my daughter, who's older, would tell me everything. And I don't know if that's a girl thing or what. But the son tells me nothing, nothing at all. So we finally get to date to go to prom. And we're like, who is this girl? He goes, oh, nobody you know.

00:41:19 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 1:

That's exactly what Luke said.

00:41:22 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm like, well, does she go to your school? Yeah. Okay, well, who is she? Nothing, nothing at all. So fast forward to, you know, prom, prom day. And I'm like, well, you know, we're going to go to the park. We're going to meet all the group. You know, we're going to take pictures. And we literally had to track her down and introduce ourselves. I'm like, hi, we're Nate's mom.

00:41:53 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 1:

How did you find out who she was? There's a million girls that are all there. Did you just look for somebody without a date?

00:41:59 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 4:

They were all hanging out together, the group. And she was in the same color that he was in. Okay. And I, you know, looking at them and, you know, they were looking at each other and everything.

00:42:09 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:42:10 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 4:

So.

00:42:10 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 1:

That's how it is. But, yeah. So was she nice? Was she nice?

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. She was absolutely beautiful.

00:42:17 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:42:18 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 4:

Very sweet girl. And then they end up going to college together.

00:42:23 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

00:42:23 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 4:

the same college and everything and they're still friends and you know I I just think it's funny weird because he won't tell us anything you know and here's the biggest thing I just don't want her

00:42:34 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 1:

to think that Chelsea and I don't like her because we don't know anything about her and hold on a

00:42:38 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 5:

second my wife's on the phone Julie say hi to my wife Chelsea hi Chelsea hello Chels how are you

00:42:46 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

did that did that not sound like a conversation when Julie and her son with me and Luke it's like Like, talking to Luke sometimes is like interviewing Kristen Stewart, the actress. They give you nothing. Yeah. But, Chalice, what's going on? What are you calling for?

00:43:01 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 5:

But the funny thing is that we do know her name because he has said it.

00:43:06 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 1:

He has?

00:43:08 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 5:

Yes, more than once. Okay. And you just are not listening.

00:43:12 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wow. I love that, Julie. Julie.

00:43:19 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

I love that KP just gave me the yeah too

00:43:23 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 5:

and he showed us a picture when I asked

00:43:26 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 1:

I listen I know he showed us a picture I saw the picture I did say that but who doesn't have an Instagram he thinks I'm going to do a deep dive doesn't he

00:43:35 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 5:

well he should know the better in both of you than me number one

00:43:38 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 1:

yeah

00:43:39 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 5:

he met her through his best one of his very best friends and it's his best friend's girlfriend's Best friend is how this is going down. So there's more to the story than you are making up in your little mind over here.

00:43:56 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 1:

Are our kids embarrassed of me?

00:43:58 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes. No hesitation. Without a beat. But you do know. You just haven't listened. I know. A couple of times.

00:44:11 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 1:

Has he already said that I'm not invited to go to prom pictures? Because I'm going to prom pictures.

00:44:16 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 5:

You almost are not invited. I mean, you're getting there.

00:44:20 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, crap.

00:44:21 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 5:

All right.

00:44:22 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm hoping. Usually the thing is that Luke is, out of all the boys, Joe shares the most. Jacob obviously did not share with us his big news of being gay, so that took a while to come out. But he shared a little bit with me more than Luke does. Luke shares nothing with me.

00:44:40 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 6:

I think he does, though.

00:44:44 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

He does. I think you want this big hallmark moment, and that's how boys are. They share little, little, little, little, and then you just have to add it up in your head and then ask the right questions, and they'll answer.

00:45:00 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I was literally trying to clothe the kid yesterday for his thing. I knew nothing about his date at all or what was going on. I was doing my best.

00:45:08 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 4:

And you did a great job.

00:45:10 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Appreciate that. All right. We'll talk to you later. You don't have a, wait, you don't have a boyfriend that you're not telling me about, are you?

00:45:18 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 4:

I probably told you several times.

00:45:21 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 1:

00:46:27 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 4:

We'll give you five lies, and if you can get through them all without your mom getting angry at you and never wanting to talk to you ever again, you win a prize for her, okay? Okay, let's go. A little back story on here. Your mom hates your dog.

00:46:52 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:46:53 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

We're going to put your dog into a situation here. You're going to say, lie number one, mom, I lost the dog. What's the dog's name?

00:47:01 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 3:

Roscoe.

00:47:02 - 00:47:03 | Speaker 1:

Roscoe.

00:47:03 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 3:

I love that.

00:47:04 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 1:

Lie number two.

00:47:05 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Say, the girls had a late start this morning.

00:47:09 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three, I think Roscoe ran after them. Lie number four.

00:47:15 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm on the phone with the bus driver right now.

00:47:19 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

And lie number five, he ran onto a school bus and is now terrorizing the kids.

00:47:25 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 3:

all right so you need we need acting skills here you need to be in a panic over this to make mom

00:47:34 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 1:

believe it okay and we understand that your mom your mom's already at work she's actually a teacher so she's gonna we're gonna be calling her at school right now yeah yeah she teaches at the middle school in the area oh okay all right here we go we're calling mom up for five lies to tell

00:47:51 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 4:

your mom okay hello mom who is this mom it's me Taylor yeah mom I lost the dog what I lost the dogs. Ossie had a late start. What? Yeah. Ossie had a late start today and so the bus schedule was all messed up and he ran after her and I'm on the phone with the bus driver right now and they want me to come up there because he's on the school bus terrorizing the kids. Oh my god, are you kidding me? I don't know what to do. Roscoe's on the school bus. He's on the school bus? You're done. You're done. It's done. That's it. Holy crap. Are they going to take me to jail? Dude, they're going to take everything you own. Did you find anybody? I don't know. They just want me to come up there, but I'm not going by myself. The driver drove away with the dog on the bus? I guess so, Mom.

00:49:03 - 00:49:04 | Unknown:

Stop it.

00:49:05 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Why would she do that? Can you come with me? Oh, my God. I need you to come with me. Oh, my God. They don't want to see me up there because they're going to start making threats to you. And I'm going to tell you what, ain't nobody threatening mine. And Zach's at work and I can't get him to pick up the phone. Oh, my God. I warned you, Taylor. I warned you, that dog. Oh, my God. Well, I'm going to throw you enough. They're not going to need to. I am going to flip out. I'm panicking. I'm panicking. Yeah, you should panic. You should panic. I just keep pouring into my classroom that I've got to go teach, and you're going to lose everything you own. Don't you go up there without me. Where's my granddaughter? At school, and he's on the bus. Oh, my God. Do you want me to have a heart attack? I don't know what to do.

00:50:00 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I'm having a very hard time laughing my head around how this happened. How the hell did she drive away with a dog on the bus? Wasn't Aussie saying anything? It was a substitute driver. Holy ****. A substitute knows a dog ain't a student.

00:50:22 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 1:

Mom?

00:50:23 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 3:

Why is that funny?

00:50:24 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 1:

Mom? This is the mojo in the morning show. And Taylor had you on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

00:50:33 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Taylor Aubrey. You got the middle name, girl.

00:50:39 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my. My whole body is ice cold and covered.

00:50:44 - 00:50:45 | Unknown:

Mom, I got you.

00:50:46 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Mom.

00:50:49 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 2:

My kids just heard me, and now I can't. Ask them to love me, Roscoe. Oh, my God.

00:50:57 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to kill the dog.

00:50:59 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. Mom

00:51:02 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 2:

I love my grandpappy I love my grandpappy

00:51:04 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 1:

Your grandpappy Taylor just won you a prize for being on five lies to tell your mom everything is all good

00:51:10 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes

00:51:11 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is mom's whisper panic that she's in because she doesn't want people to know

00:51:19 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes What? I'm in a closet at the back of my classroom I teach eighth grade and they heard me I know this

00:51:28 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 1:

we're setting you up with a prize congratulations and we're setting you up with a nice little makeover we're giving you a $150 gift card to Aesthetica Med Spa and IV Bar congratulations

00:51:46 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

love you mom I'm going to kill you it's mojo in the morning sweet

00:51:57 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 1:

Should she win an Oscar or what? Was that not amazing? She was really, really good. That was so good. I was excited. Text mom to 95500 so that you can be on 5 Lies to Tell Your Mom. I'll do the morning show. i love when you get unfollowed on social media and you didn't do anything wrong it happened to megan now why would anybody unfollow you megan i can only think of just a

00:52:40 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 5:

few reasons just an absolute few but i'm i'm a little bit irritated about this one specifically because it had nothing to do with me, and I feel like I am being punished. So my brother and his best friend got into a bit of a tiff. Is that the right word? A tiff. Is it a tiff? A tiff. A tiff, okay. So essentially, I don't want to hear anything about girls being dramatic because I've never seen anybody more dramatic than two adult men trying to have a petty fight with each other. Y'all be dramatic little babies. But the two of them got into a tiff, and he, his best friend, my brother's best friend, unfriended and blocked my brother and me. Which I kind of, maybe a little bit understand, but I didn't do anything. And the two of them have since talked to each other, because it lasted like two weeks, talked to each other, made up their best buddies again. They're now social media friends, but his best friend refuses to accept my friend requests and won't keep me off the block list. And I didn't do anything. I had no involvement whatsoever,

00:53:51 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 4:

and I feel like I'm being punished. You are. You are. You're guilty by association, just being brother-sister.

00:53:58 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 1:

But Buddy accepted Sean back as a friend.

00:54:01 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 5:

Exactly, and association is not something I want with my brother. I didn't choose this. It was bestowed upon me. and people see it as a gift. Personally, I see it as a curse.

00:54:12 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 4:

He probably forgot that he even blocked you during all of that drama in the first place. Correct, until we went out to the bars

00:54:19 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 5:

a couple of weeks ago, and I was like, hey, what's going on? And he said, oh, yeah, I'm not accepting your friend request, and just walked away from me. What did I do?

00:54:31 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 1:

Because he knows it bothers you. That's why.

00:54:33 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 5:

I didn't get invited to the wedding, but my dad and my brother did.

00:54:37 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 1:

So, okay, here's the question. Not why were you unfollowed or blocked But why were you unfollowed or blocked Because of someone else Like why did you get unfollowed or blocked Because of somebody else Like why did somebody stop talking to you Because of somebody else is usually the thing And it doesn't even have to be social media It could be anything Because that ends up happening It's guilt by association Where it's like I'm not going to ever talk to you ever again. And I had that happen with a friend that went through a divorce. And it was the wife ended up unfollowing and unfriending everybody that were friends with him. But I'm like, wait, I was just as equally friends with you.

00:55:17 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And I didn't do anything wrong. Yeah.

00:55:20 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 1:

And then they ended up doing that. That's a good one. But 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Shouldn't there be like an official refollow type time? Like, if you and, you know, this is, I'm talking to your brother's friend. If you and Megan's brother become friends again, you got to have Megan back in your life. Because, remember, it's a package deal. You got to package it up. Helena, what's up?

00:55:48 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so my best friend's boyfriend unfriended me on Facebook for no reason at all. and this was around the time about my birthday and he insisted on buying me cookies for my birthday. So it's not like he hated me by any means.

00:56:04 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So what's that old story about? He bought you cookies. He could at least come back or was it like Shannon said, maybe he just didn't get around to it?

00:56:11 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I ended up friends with him again on Facebook and he accepted it as if nothing happened. So I have no idea.

00:56:19 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, on top of this too,

00:56:22 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 6:

don't guys know if you're mad at us, you can't hate stalk us if you block us and unfriend us.

00:56:27 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean?

00:56:28 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 5:

That is very true. It backfires.

00:56:30 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 6:

This is where I think girls are better at fighting than men are is because we know how to put it aside and not talk publicly so that we can secretly stalk and go through all of their posts.

00:56:42 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, now I get it. So you don't unfollow right away. You got to keep that there so that you can see what they're doing. I get it. Sneaky people.

00:56:49 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 5:

Or you just use the Mojo in the Morning account to do that.

00:56:51 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

00:56:52 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 5:

Does anybody else on their show do that?

00:56:54 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 1:

Tara, what's up?

00:56:55 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 2:

how you doing hey good morning can you hear me yeah how you doing Karen yeah I'm doing great thank you how are you great good I was I was thinking that because I know people that do this my daughter's a gen z and this is what they do all the time they don't want other people to see what they're saying about them and by that being his sister if he's talking trash about what they argued about he doesn't want it to get back to him so you know the sister can still see everything she'll go back and say hey he's saying this about you you know oh yeah he's not a very

00:57:22 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 1:

smart guy that he shouldn't have done that to megan you're saying right yeah but i think that

00:57:26 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 6:

the dumbest part was we didn't even realize we were blocked because who uses facebook anymore until we were verifying when his birthday was and then we both were like oh we've been blocked you

00:57:36 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 1:

know what megan should do and tell me if this is a good idea tara she needs to get like a finsta or you know uh what is a fake what's fake uh facebook facebook yeah yeah she she needs to do that and see if he'll follow that person before he starts following actually a real pretty girl

00:57:54 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

or something he's interested in like or whatever yeah that would be funny that's funny thanks for

00:57:59 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 3:

the call what's up shannon uh not too much so uh the story that i have is that my girlfriend at the time her uncle uh his uh girlfriend slash friends with benefits uh there's like a huge argument that happened and everything and she blocked me as well from uh being her friend on facebook and

00:58:19 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 1:

instagram and everything too oh geez wow did does it bother you does it you know when somebody does that and they block you or they unfollow you it almost hurts your ego more than if they verbally told you they don't like you exactly i don't know why that is listener megan what's up

00:58:36 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 4:

hi guys long time no talk i talked to you guys yesterday oh wait oh okay what's going on um i actually unfriended an old co-worker yesterday because all she does for her facebook status is put emojis like a paragraph of emojis with like two words but can you read

00:58:55 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 6:

them and does it tell a coherent story because that's actually more effort and i appreciate that

00:59:00 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 4:

uh just it fills up my feed and it's annoying so i'm still friends with her i just unfollowed her

00:59:05 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 1:

so i can't see it anymore oh okay it's funny when people use the emojis i try to figure out exactly what they're trying to say you know yeah sometimes it doesn't work there's a story here shannon's gonna get us caught up on what's trending in the dirty on the 30 remember tomorrow morning war of the roses thursday morning time seven o'clock you will hear us bust cheaters with the war of the roses oh how you doing i'm sorry hi i forgot which microphone and you were on there for a second. I don't know how I did that.

00:59:38 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Kevin Costner's wife, Christine Baumgartner, has filed for divorce from the Yellowstone star after 18 years of marriage and three kids together. Their split is said to be due to irreconcilable differences. That's kind of what everybody says. But I don't know why this one makes me so sad. I really love them together. I was kind of shocked when the headline came for yesterday. How long have they been together? 18 years.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:00:00 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they started dating in 2000, so they've been together for 23 years. Tied the knot, if you remember. I literally remember seeing pictures from his wedding at his Aspen, Colorado ranch, and that was like 2004. But yeah, his attorney did hint that there was a prenup here, so I don't think that we're going to see any mess in the wake of this. So who filed? She did? She did, and then he filed a response to her filing. Do you think he cheated on the set of the show? So when this came through yesterday, I thought, I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that he's not going to finish out season five. Right?

01:00:41 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 3:

That's what I was wondering about, too.

01:00:42 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 4:

It's probably to save his marriage. Yeah, and there is a story. The Daily Mail has a story this morning, and I'll talk about it later in the show, where he was getting very cozy. I always love when the tabloids use that word. He was getting very cozy with some ladies in Vegas recently, and his wedding ring was on. I don't know.

01:01:01 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 3:

He was wearing his wedding ring while getting cozy?

01:01:03 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 4:

I mean, his wedding ring, and they were taking pictures, so you can see. I mean, I'm looking at them right now. His wedding ring is very apparent in all the photos, but.

01:01:09 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 3:

I always find that interesting. Like, if you're cheating on your spouse and you have your ring on still, do you ever, like, look at your ring and go, uh-oh?

01:01:18 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I think it's a better headline than it is actual story. Like, it doesn't look like there was anything going on with these women. and it looked like a mom and a daughter who just wanted to take a picture with Kevin Costner, but we'll get into that next hour, Sturdy. Jon Bon Jovi is addressing the internet's concerns that his 20-year-old son, Jake, and 19-year-old actress, Millie Bobby Brown, are just too young to be engaged. This is from an interview he did on Andy Cohen's radio show.

01:01:44 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Do you worry as a dad about how old or how young they are?

01:01:48 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if age matters. You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise.

01:01:57 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 4:

He said all he cares about is that his four kids are happy.

01:02:01 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 2:

I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all. Millie's wonderful. Her whole family are great. Yeah. Really great. Jake is very, very happy.

01:02:11 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 3:

You know, what's interesting is that he and his wife got together when they were the same age as Jake and Millie did.

01:02:19 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 4:

1920?

01:02:20 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and they got married, actually, I think, at that time. I think they were high school sweethearts. They might have gotten even together earlier than their age and got married really young. And Chelsea and I are very similar. We both got married pretty young. Chelsea was definitely younger. She was only 20 years old at the time. And we have preached to our kids, you got to wait, you got to wait, you got to wait. And I've heard him before in interviews where he said to his kids, he wants them to live their life a little bit more. And it's not a reflection on what He and his wife have as a relationship Or what Chelsea and I have in a relationship But you do miss out on a lot When all of a sudden you get married when you're 19 years old

01:03:00 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 4:

It sounds like he's changing his tune on that thought Because in the first clip I played He said there is something to growing up together

01:03:08 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, and she's Millie Bobby Brown

01:03:10 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah

01:03:11 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you know what I mean? Like, if it were somebody that nobody knew Would he say that same exact thing?

01:03:17 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 4:

If it was the girl that went to the public school Like you said this morning. Why do you go?

01:03:22 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

No. But if Luke were to be marrying Millie Bobby Brown, he could marry her at 17. I'd be fine with that.

01:03:37 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm letting this go because I know you wanted to.

01:03:39 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 3:

I love that song.

01:03:40 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 4:

This has been a big news story, so I want to give you the update on it. The man accused of opening fire on that family in Texas and killing five people has been found and arrested. His name is Francisco Oropesa. He is accused of opening fire on his neighbors after they asked him to please stop shooting a gun in his yard.

01:04:00 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 1:

The suspect is in custody. This morning, the days-long manhunt in Texas for Francisco Oropesa is over. He was caught hiding in a closet underneath some laundry.

01:04:12 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was apprehended in the city of, get this, Cut and Shoot, Texas. Wow. I didn't even know there was a city by that name. Immediately taken to jail and charged with first-degree murder. He is an illegal immigrant who has already been deported five times, just to give you a little backstory on him. And a couple of things that you might have missed from Monday night's Met Gala. Jack Harlow reportedly told the press that he was on shrooms to get out of doing carpet interviews. He did take a few photos on the carpet, but New York Times reporter Jessica Testa claimed at one point he pointed at his forehead and mouthed I'm on shrooms to the press so that they wouldn't bother him. However, he did stop for Emma Chamberlain. And dang, do they have some chemistry.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

01:05:02 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 3:

You want me on? Right over here. Yes, ma'am.

01:05:06 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 5:

How are we going to, like, outdo what we did?

01:05:08 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 3:

We don't have to. It's just...

01:05:10 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 5:

It's so much visual. It's the yes, ma'am for me. It's the yes, ma'am for me. It's the yes, ma'am for me. It's the yes, ma'am for me.

01:05:13 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

It's great to see you.

01:05:14 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 5:

It's great to see you.

01:05:16 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

They are just... They're something.

01:05:18 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and it's actually...

01:05:19 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 3:

We're actually pretty close friends with Billie Eilish. Also, it's like, what is her life?

01:05:23 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 2:

I want it so bad. I know, and she's so good at interviews, by the way. She was there on behalf of Vogue. And also, this fans are appreciating Doja Cat's commitment to the cat costume that she wore to the Met Gala. Because when she was interviewed on the carpet by Vogue, this is how she answered all of her questions.

01:05:41 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so tell me all about this.

01:05:43 - 01:05:44 | Unknown:

Meow.

01:05:44 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 4:

I mean, wait, so who made it?

01:05:47 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 5:

Meow. Wow. Okay, so something a little different. So, what was your inspiration for tonight? Be honest with me. And go into detail.

01:05:58 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm actually really impressed with her meows. They're pretty good.

01:06:02 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 5:

So what are you excited to see in there today? Is it your first met? I'll see you in there.

01:06:10 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 2:

And KP, you said you were watching Lil Nas X do the same thing. Yeah, he was meowing too. Everybody was just catting out. I don't know.

01:06:18 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, I would have had enough at that point. I would have looked at Mark the engineer and said, Wrap it up! How mad do you think her label is right now

01:06:33 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 3:

After canceling a tour Not putting out any music In any interview she meows I would be pissed I think they're happy I mean we're talking about it

01:06:44 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 6:

I think Doja Cat can do no wrong With the record label Just because she has had a lot of hits But I think it's her fans How about her fans I think those are the people that are probably the angry ones

01:06:55 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Remember, I spent all that money to see her, and then she canceled. I'm still mad about it.

01:07:00 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Meow.

01:07:01 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 6:

That was her response, too.

01:07:02 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on thejointhemorning.com.

01:07:06 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so tell me all about this.

01:07:09 - 01:07:09 | Unknown:

Come on.

01:07:10 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com. Here we are. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:07:16 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning Show. So we're doing Mojo's Only Fans. Last week, we started this. We had a little bit of extra cash, a couple thousand dollars, I think it was, in gift cards, cash gift cards that we had from a past contest, and we wanted to be able to give them to you, but we figured instead of just giving them away to, you know, caller number 95, that we would do Mojo's OnlyFans where we would ask you guys what little challenges you would do to, you know, win these and not get, you know, too crazy because you got kids in your car, I'm sure, driving to school. Only Fans is usually the seediest of places where people have gone to to try to make a little extra money. We get just as seedy with this contest. We would like you for week number two to take on the challenge of getting your car washed with your windows down. So you have to drive through the car wash with your windows down. Nobody ever told me that this was actually going to be something that somebody would do. I thought there's no way. But yesterday, we got a ton of people that wanted to do it.

01:08:22 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, I'm so surprised by how many people were down to do this and actually had always dreamed of doing something like this. They've just never actually done it.

01:08:30 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 6:

One of them that would like to do it is, Tara, are you there?

01:08:34 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Tara, are you there? Is she on the phone with the radio station? Tara.

01:08:38 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 6:

Tara. Hello, Tara.

01:08:42 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm here.

01:08:44 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Tara. How you doing?

01:08:46 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojell. How are you?

01:08:48 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. What's happening there, beautiful lady?

01:08:51 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, nothing. Just hanging. I can't call it.

01:08:54 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 6:

What are you doing right now? Who's that in the background with you?

01:08:58 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 1:

That's my coworkers. They are so excited that you called me.

01:09:02 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? Yeah, you called us yesterday, and it was at the end of the show as we were wrapping up, and we didn't have time to get you on. Where do you work, Tara?

01:09:10 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 1:

I work for Rizlin Neuro. It's a brain rehabilitation place. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. Yeah, we take care of special needs people that have been hit by a car. Wow. Oh, my gosh.

01:09:20 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 6:

Wow. And you need a little extra cash. You said that you would like to do our Mojo in the Morning Only Fans Challenge, driving through a car wash with your windows down. And how much money would you want for that?

01:09:32 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 1:

If you have me drive through the car wash, I'll take $350. But for the $350, honey, I will let these long titties hang. What? Wait.

01:09:42 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. Hold on. Okay, you can't say that. You can't get rid of that on the radio.

01:09:49 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Do you mean you're going to go through topless? You are obsessed with topless.

01:09:54 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 6:

You can. Yeah. Wait a second. I'm sorry. Tara, Tara, you want to be topless doing this?

01:10:01 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 2:

I'll be populous for the $350. Now, wait a minute.

01:10:04 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Tara, this is truly OnlyFans. I just a second ago gave the forewarning to parents that this was not going to be dirty at all. That this was going to be nice and clean.

01:10:13 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, I'll clutch my pearls then.

01:10:19 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I love her. So, Tara, $350 is the only thing that you want for going through a car wash. With what kind of a car do you have?

01:10:28 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

I have a 2017 Ford Fusion.

01:10:32 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow, okay. That probably needs to be clean, too. What color is it?

01:10:36 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 2:

It's silver.

01:10:38 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's good. It hides all the dirt, right?

01:10:40 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 2:

That's right, and I got tended windows.

01:10:43 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do you ever drive to work topless?

01:10:47 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 2:

I have. I have. I left out of a guy's house topless. I mean, you know, they were just hanging to the ground.

01:10:53 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah. So you were spending the night at somebody else's house, driving from a different direction to work, and you ended up having no top on at the time. So thank God you got the tinted windows, right?

01:11:06 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you because they would have exposed me. Yeah, exactly. The visual I have of your boobies. They brown too, baby.

01:11:17 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. By the way, Tara, I have to say this, that I don't know technically if our boss will allow us to let you go topless, but we'll have to run it by him, okay, and make sure it's okay. But I'm not opposed to you doing whatever you want to do once the car wash starts, okay?

01:11:38 - 01:11:39 | Unknown:

Okay, okay.

01:11:39 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 1:

Like, I technically can't tell you.

01:11:40 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Actually, I was going to say, don't tell us.

01:11:42 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't tell us.

01:11:43 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 2:

Because we don't want to get in trouble, so we don't know anything.

01:11:45 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:11:46 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 2:

I like your boobies. This is all we're going to believe. Just you.

01:11:49 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So, Tara, you're a great option for this one here. And I like that you're very realistic with the amount of money that you have. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Just all you want is $350 on this one. People are saying that we should make, here we go, 810 says, make Tara a misfit. Think that that could happen when she does this?

01:12:14 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

Topless Tara.

01:12:14 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Topless Tara. Tara, oh, my God, we got the name.

01:12:17 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Nice work, Shannon. I'm Shannon.

01:12:19 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 1:

You're done for the day. You can go home now. You got anything you want to run? Or breakfast. We can have to buy you breakfast for that one. Topless Tara, you hang on. So far, you're a winner on this one. We may just call this thing quits right now, Tara.

01:12:33 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 2:

I know. I do love her.

01:12:35 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

All right. You're very good. Another texter here says right now, this 313 says, LMAO, I love her. Another one here that says, thanks, Tara. My kids are wanting to know exactly what you said again because I laughed so hard. I spilled my coffee on myself. There's a lot of people commenting about you right now, Tara. Yay. Yay. Our coworkers. Let me say hi to the coworkers real quick. Am I on speaker? Come in.

01:13:04 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 2:

Mom, I want to say hi to you. Here she comes. Hello. This is Tameka Smith from Resilient Neuro. How are you doing? Oh, my goodness. Hello, Tamika.

01:13:15 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 1:

Tamika Smith. Hi. Tamika Smith.

01:13:17 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 2:

You guys are wonderful.

01:13:19 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 1:

Is that lady as beautiful as she sounds?

01:13:22 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 2:

Yes, she is. She's wonderful.

01:13:25 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. She's a good lady.

01:13:26 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to be joining her in the car if she does this? We're on the radio. Yes, yes.

01:13:35 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 1:

You are going to join her in the car? Tamika? You don't want to do that, do you?

01:13:40 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 2:

You say what now? I'm sorry. She can't understand what you're saying

01:13:45 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 1:

because of topless Tara still screaming so much. She wanted to know if you're going to drive through...

01:13:50 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you.

01:13:54 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 1:

I want to be a fly on the wall right now. Shannon wants to know if you're going to drive through the car wash with Tara.

01:14:01 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh no, I ain't driving through the car wash with Tara. I'm not doing that. Okay, all right. I'm on her own, though.

01:14:07 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's crazy stuff. I can't believe she'd be willing to do that. Yes. Oh, my God. All right. Who else is there that we can talk to? Yeah, who else? Is there anybody else there? These might be the most fun callers that we've had all year.

01:14:18 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 2:

We have our other coworkers on my phone. I can put them on speaker.

01:14:23 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 1:

What's their name?

01:14:26 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Ashley.

01:14:27 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 1:

Ashley. Are you there, Ashley?

01:14:30 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 2:

And Jackie.

01:14:31 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 1:

You guys having fun today? okay all right put tara back on the phone we'll wrap this thing up with her um tara is going to talk to uh to kp and lydia about this all right um maybe we do it tomorrow maybe we get it going tomorrow because the weather's going to be nice tomorrow yeah for this yeah all right all right tara hold on the line for one second here okay all right yeah i love you be careful and do me a favor if you ever say the t word ever again uh uh say do me a favor say it slower because you said it so fast that i almost didn't get to dump it so okay okay all right hold on one second man i think we got ourselves a winner there

01:15:20 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 3:

um mojo's only fans he gets mad and calls you crazy when you confront him about the girl he's been texting another world famous war the roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 9 on mojo in the

01:15:32 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 1:

morning all right it is mojo in the morning show so we talked about this on our more mojo podcast you can go check it out it was called uh couples therapy i think it was or something like that um we talked about how shannon was going for her first session of her premarital counseling with her fiancee west and you were doing it virtually right so you were doing it were you doing it in the same place or a different place than him? We were doing it in different places,

01:15:59 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

and the reason that we weren't in person, just for a little backstory, is because we really wanted to do it with this one woman, and her availability kind of didn't really match with ours. We took the first appointment that we could, and both Wes and I couldn't be in her office, but we wanted the appointment. So that's the reason that we did it virtually. Normally,

01:16:20 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

we'll be in person. So I remember premarital counseling, and you probably remembered the first time that you did premarital counseling when you got married before it's it's one of those things where you're trying to honestly I felt like I was just going through it to do it for the church like I really didn't want to learn anything you're doing this because you truly want

01:16:38 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 2:

to know what's going on well yeah I mean I both Wes and I are very much in agreement that we you know unfortunately the statistic is not great for the success of second marriages and we're both very aware of that um and obviously you know we know what happened to both of our first marriages and so we are just really really committed to making sure that um that we take you know all of the appropriate steps and are very well equipped going into this and especially since we have you know we're blending families here yeah and we want to be really careful and do it the right way and not cause any damage so we you know both just said this is very very important to us so i didn't know

01:17:22 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I didn't know that either.

01:17:23 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 2:

The statistics for second marriages? The failure rate? Oh, yeah. Yeah.

01:17:27 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 1:

Is it greater than the statistic for a first marriage? It is. Wow.

01:17:32 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 3:

See, I wouldn't have expected that. I would have thought that because people had gone through divorce before, they would... This sounds weird, but I would just expect that they would know what they wanted in a partner more or not need to be married again.

01:17:44 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 2:

I want to say, and I am no expert on this by any means, but I want to say that I would assume it's attributed to a lot of times there are you know children involved and other you know there are there are exes involved there are so many different so many more layers to it the

01:18:03 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 3:

second or third time around you know you do blame the children i do not blame my sweet children or his sweet children no no but i also i and i but i also think that there's probably something to

01:18:13 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 1:

a lot of times people will get back into a relationship so fast too yeah which i think And both of you guys have not done. Right. Like, you guys have...

01:18:20 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I took my time.

01:18:22 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and so he's been divorced for some time, too. Yes, he's been divorced for longer than I have. All right, so what revelations did we learn in premarital counseling number one?

01:18:31 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, so the first session, and anybody who goes to therapy, you know this. The first couple of sessions are basically like discovery because you don't know this person who's helping you, this therapist. So they want to learn more about you and your partner and how you met and your backgrounds and your families and all of that stuff. But I said this yesterday during the podcast. She had us fill out like an intake form, like a questionnaire to kind of speed up that process a little bit. So she had all of that information in front of her. So one of the things that was on there was, you know, like a whole section about intimacy. Wes is probably driving off the road right now, by the way, if he's listening and hearing me talk about this. But there were questions about like how satisfied are you with your love life? How satisfied are you in the bedroom with baking cookies? And then there was a question about how many times in the last month have you baked cookies? And I can't see his answers and he can't see my answers. And she will never show them to the other party. So I answered and I know what my answer is. And don't even ask me because I'm not going to say it on the air. and I don't know what his answer is but she mentioned during our session yesterday and she said this happens all of the time oh crap he is listening he just texted me she she said that this happens all of the time that the numbers like our recollect people's recollections are very different and all. One of us doubled what the other person said.

01:20:02 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

01:20:03 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that funny? That's crazy. And I'm trying to think, was it me? I'm not playing a damn game with you.

01:20:09 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 1:

No, no. I'm wondering. I'm wondering. I just used this as a musical back. I'm wondering who it was that did that.

01:20:17 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 2:

I feel like my number was very accurate. And it's a very good number, by the way. We have a very healthy.

01:20:23 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 1:

If you say more, that means that even if it was less, That means that you were maybe very satisfied Right? Because it's usually the people That complain are the ones that complain about it And say that they don't have it

01:20:36 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 2:

Which I was not complaining in my answer I hope he wasn't complaining in his answer If your number is very good Can it be doubled on this scale? My number could It could have been doubled That would not It would not have been accurate

01:20:52 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 1:

Question for you though How do you keep track of an entire month?

01:20:55 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know what I did last night I wanted to say that, but I didn't want to be defensive and assume that I was the one that doubled it. But I don't put like a dot on my calendar when we bake cookies. No, because I was wondering about that. Do people do that? If you're trying to get pregnant aside. Because I understand people do that.

01:21:16 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 1:

I was wondering because I wondered if you had something that you did that with.

01:21:21 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:21:21 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one second. I actually have a person I would like to call her right now.

01:21:26 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Who?

01:21:27 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 1:

Are you calling him? No, it's a premarital counselor that would like. No. Yeah, it's Wes. Oh, God.

01:21:35 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

I might be in trouble.

01:21:37 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so. I'm serious.

01:21:38 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Oh, God. Am I in trouble?

01:21:39 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 1:

This is Shannon's fiancée, Wes. Wes, so which one of you guys doubled the number or did more of the number? Who do you think it was? Was it Shannon? Oh, it was Shannon. It was Shannon? Oh, for sure, Shannon. For sure. Really?

01:21:55 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, my number was very high.

01:21:57 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, that's good. Wait a second. So, because you know your answer of your number of how many times you've baked cookies this month.

01:22:06 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

In the last month was the answer. In the last month? Okay, good.

01:22:10 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 3:

I have a number.

01:22:11 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 1:

All right, hold on. Off the air right now. No, no, no, no. I don't want you to know. Text me. Off the air. Real quick, in my headphones right now, Wes, say hello. You can't hear him, right? Truly, you can't hear him. All right, Wes, give me the number you gave to the counselor. All right. Okay, hold on a second. Don't say anything. Don't say anything right now. I won't. Shannon?

01:22:34 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 2:

What? I'm going to show you my answer.

01:22:37 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 1:

No, I want you to do us a favor. I want you to verbally say your answer.

01:22:41 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not going to. Why? That is so personal.

01:22:43 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, then show me.

01:22:49 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 2:

Is it really different? Is it really different?

01:22:54 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Yours was the way more. My love

01:22:59 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Maybe I'm just dreaming About baking cookies with you So I counted that into the number two

01:23:05 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 1:

It's funny

01:23:06 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 2:

Is it really that different

01:23:08 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 1:

It's pretty different It's like you guys don't even get a break According to Shannon You guys have had so many cookies That seriously

01:23:21 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 2:

I said we have a very healthy love life Do you agree

01:23:24 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 1:

yes okay he doesn't agree well apparently you did it in the questionnaire that's pretty wild though that's wild how different you guys are about this like i think i i think that that's interesting that uh the number kind of is uh is a little a little bit off there but uh that actually west that makes you gotta make you feel good right yeah i mean i hope i'm there every time listen i'm gonna say this to you if you were having to be there as many times as shannon wrote down on that piece of paper, buddy, I'd be, uh, I'd be wondering if you're okay, if we might need to maybe give this man, uh, I don't know, a little break for a little bit, but yeah. All right. So Wes, what was, what was your biggest revelation from going to this counseling session yesterday? You're a pre people are like, what is premarital counseling? It's counseling before you get marriage married. Right.

01:24:16 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Right. My, my revelation was when the counselor wasn't looking or therapist wasn't looking and she was entering in uh our next scheduled date shannon looked at the screen and started to make gestures at me like a licky face or a wink and i'm like you know this call is recorded for

01:24:32 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 2:

her later i was doing more than that after because it was telehealth or whatever whatever i don't even know what platform she uses but afterwards he did we did facetime each other and he goes just so you are aware she's probably going to go back and take notes on our session because this is the first time you know she's trying to get to know us and she is going to see you doing all

01:24:54 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 1:

of those things um that's funny well it's good that you guys are playful and that you guys are both concerned are you concerned uh west because shannon brought this up do you get concerned about that statistic of second marriages and how there's a high number of them that that

01:25:10 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 3:

end uh in divorce yeah i think i'm the one that brought it up yeah it's definitely something

01:25:14 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 1:

that's out there for for both of us that's it's good though that you think about that because

01:25:19 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 2:

so many times people well we're just being we're being realistic yeah and away and aware but that's

01:25:24 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 1:

awesome because nobody goes into marriage wanting it to fail, right? We all say that that person is the person I love more than anything in the world. You're even telling God that you love him more than anything in the world. And then what ends up happening is you don't go in prepared for the times when things aren't happy, which by the way, as you guys both know from being in previous relationships, relationships are definitely more happy than they are unhappy, but it's the unhappy be ones that can fester and keep on going and make for the marriage to not be successful yeah right yep so well listen lucky guy I guess we need to later you know what's amazing about this is you know what you know who Shannon is uh Megan I realized in this me when I was in college and I

01:26:14 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 2:

used to tell my buddies how many times I was having sex with people I really was like I had to think about an accurate number, but I don't know.

01:26:21 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 1:

Wes, guys would say, yeah, did you do her? You know, like, people would, like, guys would say that, you know, after you go out in a day, yeah, I did, which, by the way, I was at home by, like, 9 o'clock.

01:26:32 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 2:

Isn't a more important question, though, sorry not to get, like, too weirdly off-topic here, though, not how good it is, but, like, or not how often you do it, but are you guys just both satisfied with that number? Whether they match or not, are you both, like, happy with it? I think that was another question.

01:26:49 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God, I should be a therapist Megan, there's room for both Yeah, that's true Okay

01:26:55 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes a little quickie is actually not bad, right? Right It's okay It's like a quick shower You know what it is? It's like a What do women call it when they don't wash their hair? It's like a dry shower Dry shampoo? Or dry, I don't know Whatever they do I'm just going to do a body shower No, it's a body shower Yeah, it's like a body shower It's a body shower Alright, Wes, take care of yourself

01:27:18 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

I love you.

01:27:19 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 1:

I love you guys. Oh, thank you. I love you too.

01:27:21 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 2:

I love you so much.

01:27:22 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she was talking to Wes. Ah. Not as much as you love Wes. Holy cow. Sam, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:27:34 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I was just wondering, like, I'm not trying to blame the kids, so Megan, don't start on me. But, like, realistically, does it have something to do with kids' failure rate with second marriages? because you have years with your like previous partner parenting a particular way and then you're like navigating this new co-parenting relationship and then you have this new partner yeah so there's like a lot of cooks in the kitchen yeah that's a great point yeah yeah that's like rate is with parents who remarried with children and then versus those without yeah yeah is it that though

01:28:05 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 2:

or is it you've already been through divorce so like the the stress of going through that like you know what to expect do you think a lot of it is that if you've never been divorced before you don't want to go through that process but if you have it's not i don't want to say this like i know because obviously i don't but is it not as big of a deal because it's not the unknown i don't know

01:28:28 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 3:

i just know that like i've unfortunately witnessed some pretty unhealthy co-parenting relationships and if you're not fortunate enough i feel like that can lead to a lot of strife between you and your new partner yeah because you're trying to navigate and keep a relationship a lot of times if you can if it's healthy and it's that safety issue um you know with your previous person so i think there's i would know i'd be curious but i just think there's some validity in that other

01:28:52 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 1:

theory as well and i think and honestly i love that you're bringing this up and i hope that you do too sam that channon and west bringing this up because i hope that there are some people that maybe learn from this if they're oh for sure you know yeah can she just give me you guys are putting

01:29:06 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 3:

in the work and being proactive rather than reactive thanks your kids are so lucky to have

01:29:09 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 2:

you guys thank you can they what can she just give me one fm babies before she gets off the phone

01:29:15 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 1:

come on come on sam i didn't hear that i'm sorry can you give a quick fm babies to megan

01:29:23 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 3:

her her moniker megan i love you dearly and you are one of my faves girl but i can't do it she

01:29:28 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 1:

doesn't she no you know what she'll call us back in like a couple of days call us back in a couple days when the kids are a pain in the ass

01:29:35 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and you don't wash your hair. Yeah, a lot of people were calling it a hoe bath. So they were calling it that. A couple of people said a hillbilly bath.

01:30:46 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

I thought that was when you just spray perfume. You don't even shower. Yeah, that's what I thought.

A parking lot. Yes. Well, you guys got the little bonus though with the goose poop.

01:35:28 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

01:35:29 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 2:

This is all over the sidewalks.

01:35:30 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 1:

I know. At least there are, the geese are all around here, pooping all over the place. Another chance for Naughty Moms Night Out before we end the show today. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. I saw this, and I was going to bring it up on the show the day before last, and then I said, oh, crap, I'll hold it for another day. And then yesterday, it almost happened to me. Researchers from Johns Hopkins University released results of a study that they found the number of dog-walking injuries has quadrupled in the past 20 years.

01:36:08 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 3:

Dog-walking injuries?

01:36:09 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Over the last two decades, 422,000 people have gone to the emergency room after being hurt walking their dogs. The most common of injuries that have happened from these people going out with their dogs, finger fractures, traumatic brain injuries, shoulder sprains and strains, dislocated shoulders, knees that end up requiring surgery, whether it be torn meniscus or people that literally tear an ACL. And here's one of the things that they say is one of the problems, is that your dogs are a-holes. That people should actually have shorter leashes to avoid tripping on them. That's one of the number one ways that you injure yourself. Avoid places where dogs are distracted so that they all of a sudden don't get so distracted that they get crazy and start pulling you in different directions. and avoid areas that happened to me where yesterday I was walking our dogs, Henry and Louie, and almost got hit by a car, literally almost had a car swerve off and like nail me.

01:37:29 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

Onto the sidewalk or were you walking in the street?

01:37:30 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 1:

No, I was walking on the side of the road. So I was just on the side of the road and it got all the way over. And I think what ended up happening was the person that was driving by me was driving way too close. Like, I'm one of those people that always veers off and, like, goes, like, way far off and around to the person that's, you know, out there, whether they're on a bike or they're walking or taking their dog for a walk. And this person obviously wasn't. And Henry almost went to the road, and I wanted to protect him from, you know, doing it and literally almost ended up getting clipped by a car that was coming by me at that particular time. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to know what the craziest injury was that you got from walking your dogs. What was it that ended up happening? This is why I always say don't walk your dogs. Chelsea's actually going to call me out right now. She's going to say, you didn't take the dogs for a walk yesterday. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. I took the dogs for a walk because here's the problem. If I say the word walk, my dogs know what that word is, and they go crazy and they run to their leashes that are in a bag right by our door and they won't let me get any rest at that moment.

01:38:41 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 3:

I can't even spell walk or treat. He knows, I think he knows like the cadence of how I spell something. But Charlie, my dog, knows if I say, you know, Lucy, let's take Char for a W-A-L-K. He knows exactly what I'm talking about.

01:38:55 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 1:

Can he spell better than me? What did you just say? What did you say him for? A W-A-L-K. What exactly? He sounded out. Yeah. What? Kim, what's going on? Hi, Kim. How you doing?

01:39:11 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

01:39:12 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 1:

Good, Kim. Kim, you're very mellow right now. You're scaring me. You're not on a walk with your dog right now, are you?

01:39:18 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not. My phone was playing through my car, and it was doing something weird.

01:39:23 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. No problem. Did you injure yourself taking the dog for a walk?

01:39:27 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

I did. When I was younger, my dog actually got distracted by a squirrel. drug me down the street and I refused to let go because I didn't want to lose my dog. I still have the scar on my chin, on my elbow, from the scrapes across the sidewalk from my dog being distracted.

01:39:46 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's crazy. Yeah. Honestly, that's how people dislocate their shoulders is because your dogs take you so far and your shoulders aren't prepared for the pull. Steven, what's going on?

01:39:58 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 2:

Our great game. Seven years ago Knocked my wife to the ground Breaking her leg She's had sick surgeries And got a nerve damage And she is disabled In her mid-40s

01:40:12 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 6:

Holy crap That's awful man

01:40:16 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

That's horrible

01:40:17 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 6:

From just taking him for a walk One time this happened And changed her whole life

01:40:22 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 2:

She fell to the ground It was like snapping your fingers And I'm like no it's not broke Every doctor we've ever had This is the worst break we've ever seen in her ankle, and the nerve damage is non-curable.

01:40:36 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. I'm sorry about that. Great Danes are bigger than humans, right? They're huge dogs.

01:40:43 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 2:

One-year-old, 120 pounds.

01:40:45 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 1:

Holy Christ.

01:40:45 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 7:

There's a guy at my vet with two of them, and he can't even stand still. The dogs pull him around.

01:40:50 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 1:

It's insane. Well, I'm sorry to hear about that, Stephen. Thank you for your call. Victoria?

01:40:57 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:40:58 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 1:

Walking your dog gave you a what?

01:41:01 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 3:

So I decided it would be a really brilliant idea to walk my dog while rollerblading when I was 14. Yeah. And the dog stopped. I did not. I went over top of her, and I ended up breaking my kneecap in two places.

01:41:16 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:41:17 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, ow.

01:41:19 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 1:

That hurts me just hearing you say that.

01:41:22 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 3:

And the problem is it healed wrong. So now I have, like, permanent arthritis in my knee at 30. Wow.

01:41:29 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, that's painful. Man, thank you for the call. I can't believe how many people, look at some of these, knee injuries here. Another person split their head open, lost all my teeth. Oh, my gosh. Went on a dog walk with my dog, lost all my teeth when I fell to the ground and my teeth shattered. Miranda?

01:41:53 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:41:54 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 1:

You were actually walking your dog while riding a bike. Now, that's not smart.

01:41:58 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to try it. You know, you see those people that their dog walks so nicely next to them riding their bike.

01:42:04 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:42:05 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 4:

My dog just wasn't one of those people, or one of those dogs. He took off after a squirrel, and my bike flipped over my head.

01:42:14 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. And what did you do? What kind of injury did you have?

01:42:17 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 4:

I, thankfully, was not super hurt, but I was like, never again, dude. I tried to get you a little bit more exercise and can't do it.

01:42:27 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Listen, I think these animals are coming to kill us right now. That's what I think.

01:42:32 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 4:

My dog can read my mind when I even think about going for a walk. He starts pacing towards the door.

01:42:39 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 1:

So you get up and your dog right away knows exactly what's going on.

01:42:44 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes, exactly. It's crazy.

01:42:46 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 1:

You need to be like less physically fit and be like me.

01:42:50 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 4:

I try. I try.

01:42:52 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 1:

If I get off the couch, you know what my dogs do? They go, hey, he's alive. Holy cow. There he is. Thank you for the call. I was a statue. Nicole, your mom broke her neck?

01:43:07 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. The dog chased a cat, and she slipped on mud, and she fell, and he broke her neck.

01:43:13 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 1:

She's not paralyzed, is she?

01:43:15 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 5:

No, thank God. But it is the first vertebrae under her skull, and so she's still having issues. Oh, my God.

01:43:25 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 6:

You just never think, like, you brought up, you read that story, and I was like, no way do people get injured walking their dogs.

01:43:30 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 1:

You don't think about all of these things. Megan one time said the way that she was going to die was that nobody was going to find her in her house, and Coraline was going to eat her. Absolutely.

01:43:39 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I do remember that. I actually tried to forget about that.

01:43:43 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 7:

Dude, I know how it's going to happen, Megan. Yeah, I know how it's going to happen. I'm going to choke alone in my house, and nobody's going to be able to find me, and my dog's going to eat me. Like, I just. Okay. Yeah. I know. I just know. But it's better to have a plan, and it's better to be prepared.

01:43:56 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 1:

Question, though. This is something that has been killing me since you brought this up on the air maybe a week and a half ago or two weeks ago. Where would she start first eating? Like, I always wondered. Oh, okay.

01:44:05 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 7:

Come on. Oh, no, no, no. Good question. Good question. Because she's dumb. She's real dumb. So she'd probably keep my hands because she'd think I'd come back to life and pet her.

01:44:15 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 6:

You've actually thought about this, which is really disturbing to me. My thoughts are pretty juicy.

01:44:20 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 1:

What do you got coming up in the Dirty in less than 10 minutes?

01:44:23 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 6:

Well, there was, did you see what happened at Buckingham Palace yesterday?

01:44:26 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

I thought it was Megan that did it.

01:44:28 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 6:

I mean, there was an explosion, so we'll talk about that. And what's the latest with this writer's strike? I'll kind of catch up on that story as well coming up in the Dirty.

01:44:38 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, all coming up here in just a little bit on Mojo in the Morning. Shannon and I went to lunch yesterday, and it was one of those lunches where things got really, really deep. And then they got really, really fun And then they got It was like we both got tears in our eyes We cried, we laughed It was like a good movie, wasn't it? And then we looked up at the What was the waitress's name again? Naomi. Naomi, sweet lady, really nice lady. We looked at Naomi, and all she wanted us to do was leave. This shows you how long our lunch was. They gave us the bill and asked us to close out the tab because they were doing ship change.

01:45:15 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 5:

We hadn't even taken a bite of our food. Yes, I know. I know. Well, yeah. She brought our food, and she came back to check two different times because we both had not touched our food, and she thought that something was wrong with it.

01:45:30 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, which is unusual for me because usually, and I actually will say this, I usually eat three meals in the time that we were doing this. Like I'd have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the amount of time. It was a little over two hours or something like that?

01:45:44 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 5:

It was more than that. It was almost three hours.

01:45:45 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 1:

Three hours. But we were not the person or the people that have ever stayed at a restaurant the longest that went to one of Naomi's other customers.

01:45:54 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she said, because we kept apologizing and she said, you guys, you don't even, come close to the record she said that recently she had a table of like middle-aged women who came in at nine in the morning she said nine in the morning and they started with coffee they did not leave sat at the same table until 7 p.m 9 a.m to 7 p.m how many hours is that 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12, 11, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 13, 14, 14, 14, 14, 15, 15, 15, 16, 17, 17, 18, 18, 19, 19, 20, 20, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21, 21

01:46:48 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't. You know what? I didn't ask that. I should have asked that.

01:46:51 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 1:

I would have assumed if it was horrible, she would have said it. But she did say that they had to put a note in their names for reservations. So the next time they come, people know how long they stay. How much would you tip for something like that?

01:47:04 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know. If you're there that long. If you're taking up a whole space, you should pay them your meal and more. Yeah.

01:47:11 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, because if you just tipped on what you ordered, you're definitely not eating that entire time. You might have, you know, two meals and a coffee and a drink or whatever.

01:47:20 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but think of how many people could have sat at that table during that time.

01:47:23 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 5:

That's what I mean. You'd have to take that into consideration when you're leaving your temp, right?

01:47:27 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 1:

And you know this because you've waited tables and been in the service industry before. What's the longest somebody has ever sat at a table that you were?

01:47:36 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, for me, not that long because I worked in like bar type settings. So people would come in and out super quick and it's at night. But when people do squat at the table for a long time, I do get annoyed because, you know, That's money that we're missing here. What do you guys think?

01:47:50 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead.

01:47:50 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

I never had a problem if you camped at a table. As long as you tipped the same amount you would have for each table, that would have been there.

01:47:57 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 1:

Can you tell them that ahead of time, though? Because they don't know what your tip's going to be until the end. You almost need to... I would say to them, if that was me, because I feel uncomfortable. I'm one of those people that feels like you've got to get everything done in an hour. And I know some restaurants actually do this, where they have time limits on tables. But if I'm there with my family or with friends, I'm like, all right, guys, got to go. All right, guys. Like, I'm like, let's because I feel like they're judging me. But I almost wish that I could just say to them right off the bat, hey, I'm going to give you this much money right now. I'm going to make it worth it. And we're going to stay, you know, for a good amount of time.

01:48:32 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 4:

I actually did have a table do that. When I was waitressing up in Trevor City, we had a huge party come for graduation. She gave me money before everybody showed up. So that was nice. Yeah. Knowing that I was going to get that for that big party.

01:48:43 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

DJ, what's going on?

01:48:46 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 4:

How we going?

01:48:47 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, buddy. How long did you stay at a restaurant?

01:48:51 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

It was about 12 hours.

01:48:53 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 1:

What could you do for 12 hours? Were you watching games on television, or what were you doing?

01:49:00 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 2:

It says Cracker Barrel, and there's no TVs.

01:49:04 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 1:

So you stayed at Cracker Barrel for 12 hours?

01:49:10 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was right at the end of basic training in AIT, and it was the weekend directly after Thanksgiving. The place was empty, and we got pushed off base for the weekend. And so we got there like 7 in the morning, and we ended up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And then some super sweet old couple paid for our entire bill. Oh, that's nice.

01:49:36 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, by the way, these people that we were talking about yesterday, they were there for 10 hours. They had one meal and drank coffee the rest of the time. So you at least ate three meals so that they could be charged for three meals. Eric?

01:49:50 - 01:49:51 | Unknown:

Hi, how are you today?

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

We're good. A lot of people who are waiters and waitresses are saying that these people are called campers. Did you do this? Oh, yeah. No, I didn't.

01:50:00 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 3:

I used to be a server at Outback, and there were these regulars that came in. They were middle-aged women that would come in. We called them the Scrabble ladies. They would come in, and they would bring their board game, whether it was Scrabble or Risk or whatever game that takes a really long time to play, and they would play it. And the rule was you can't shift servers because that's rude. They find that is rude, and you're like pushing them out, da-da-da-da-da. So we would have to sit there, and they would sit no more than 15% to 18%. It was miserable. When they sat there, you knew you were making any money. It was like, God dang it.

01:50:34 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 1:

This is why they make parks. There are benches and tables and barbecue pits. If you're going to camp, go to a park.

01:50:41 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Daisy?

01:50:43 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

Hi. This is very, very common at Golden Corral.

01:50:48 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, at a buffet. People stay long at a buffet? I would.

01:50:51 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 4:

Yes. They pay once to get in. They can eat as long as they want until they can't no more.

01:50:56 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 6:

I'm surprised there's not a rule for that. because you could technically get breakfast, lunch, and dinner then, right?

01:51:02 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 4:

They sure did. They would be in there before I got there at 4, and they would stay until 9 when I would leave.

01:51:08 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Back in the day, we used to go as a show to the Chinese buffet down the street here in Novi, and Kyra was on the show at the time. She was one of our female co-hosts, and Kyra wanted to stay so long that they actually told us we had to leave. Oh, really? Yeah, they told us that we had to get up and go, and we weren't even there for more than a few hours because we were goofing and having fun. But how long do people stay at the buffet for?

01:51:34 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my whole shift, so six-plus hours.

01:51:37 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Are they bigger people like me?

01:51:41 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, there would be two regulars that they would come. Yes, they would. But then, no, they would just be any sizes, honestly.

01:51:48 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

You're kidding me. Like little skinny people. Maybe that's the thing. They're digesting their food.

01:51:52 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they would sit there and wait until they digested it. Go back for more. They sure did.

01:51:56 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Golden Corral. I need to get to a Golden Corral in a while. We've talked before about how I used to love Old Country Buffet, Golden Corral, and then what was the other one? It was Sizzler Buffet.

01:52:09 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 6:

Sizzler.

01:52:10 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 2:

Ah, the best. There was one on Eureka Road, I remember. I've never been to a Sizzler.

01:52:14 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, but no, go to Logan's.

01:52:17 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

Logan's? But Logan's doesn't have a buffet.

01:52:18 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 4:

Logan's Roadhouse.

01:52:20 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 2:

I love it.

01:52:20 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 4:

But the food's so much worth it.

01:52:21 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 2:

I know, Logan's is great, but they don't have, like, the buffet. Like, I like a buffet or a salad bar. I'm really big on that.

01:52:29 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 4:

If you go to buffet, you got to go to the right buffet. There's the good ones and there's bad ones. What's the right buffet? The bad one. I haven't been to one in a while. Ever since COVID happened, they all went downhill, and I can't remember if a good one before COVID.

01:52:43 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:52:47 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Have a good one.

01:52:47 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 2:

All right. Take care of yourself. We'll get you caught up on what's trending in our 8 o'clock hour right now with the Dirty on the 30. If you missed anything from earlier this morning on the show, like five lies, tell your mom or Shannon's first therapy session for couples therapy. She revealed something very interesting in that. Go listen back.

01:53:09 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 6:

The podcast. The palace was put under lockdown yesterday after a man was caught carrying and throwing suspicious items onto the royal grounds. So the UK's Metropolitan Police was watching this happen. And so they saw this guy approach the palace gate. This is around 7 p.m. London time. And he just started chucking stuff over the gate. And the items that he was throwing were suspected to be shotgun cartridges. Not good. So the cops went over to him. Nope. They confronted him. Sorry, I was... It's okay.

01:53:44 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 2:

My headphone went crazy there for a second. Backstreet Boys weren't there. They weren't there. Are they okay?

01:53:49 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 6:

But, yeah. They confiscated a suspicious bag that this man had on him and then conducted a controlled explosion of the contents of that bag as a precaution. The man was obviously arrested. No reports of any shots fired. No officers or members of the public were injured, thankfully, but still very scary, you know, in a couple of days leading up to this big celebration that's going to be taking place.

01:54:13 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 2:

What do you guys think the reaction is going to be to the coronation? Because Megan sent us some audio from, what was it? God, it was like a soccer game or something like that, wasn't it?

01:54:25 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, the coronation up your booty.

01:54:28 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:54:28 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 5:

The coronation up your booty.

01:54:31 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 2:

Is that playable on the radio? I don't remember. No, it's not playable.

01:54:36 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 5:

They love cursing in their soccer chants over in the UK.

01:54:40 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if there will be more protesters or more crazy

01:54:46 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 5:

things going on. Remember, they made the the route that they're supposed to walk much smaller because they knew a lot of it's usually what five miles and they made it just over one mile because they knew people weren't going to be

01:55:00 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 2:

showing up and they didn't want it to look bad on television I don't think you're gonna have actual outdoor audio playing because I think people will be booing and yelling at him I think it's gonna be piped in like crowd noise and yeah I that's really interesting I think what you find on social media videos is gonna be a lot different than what you find on the news broadcast I'm still so curious and I would want to go would you want to go if you had the chance to I would go only because, not because I'm celebrating the royal family. It's so funny. Everybody thinks I love the royal family. I actually hate the royal family. But it's something that you just don't see often. So I would like to see it because the last time this really happened, I mean, in America that we cared about, because I guess there's other coronations across the globe. Well, it's 70 years ago. So it's not like this happens all the time.

01:55:52 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 3:

The Hollywood writer's strike, another big, big story today. And in the wake of that actually kicking into effect, SNL is going to go ahead and cancel its upcoming episode. Pete Davidson was set to return to 30 Rock to host with musical guest Lil Uzi Vert. That's not going to happen. I saw yesterday there was a picket line outside of Paramount. Several celebrities were there in support of the Writers Guild of America. Rob Lowe was one of them. His son, a big writer in Hollywood.

01:56:18 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 4:

Why are you out here today? Out to support the writers. Without the writers, we have nothing. My son is on the picket line today. I am very proud of that. We've got to solve it and go back to work.

01:56:28 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 3:

Jimmy Fallon also voicing his support for the Writers Guild.

01:56:31 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't have a show for my writers, and I support them all the way. They've got to have a fair contract. If there is a strike, do you go dark? Yeah, I think we will, yeah. I think we'll go dark. Whatever I can do to support the Guild, I am actually in the Writers Guild as well.

01:56:47 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 3:

Some of his staff members, by the way, are saying, he's all talk. He has done nothing to support us. The New York Post is now calling the show pre-recorded with Kelly and Mark. Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos have reportedly been taping episodes as far as two months in advance. Word on the street is that last Wednesday, Kelly and Mark pre-taped their June 19th episode. And the following day, they pre-taped the show that's scheduled to air on June 26th. And an insider tells me the opening monologue for the pre-recorded episodes is very generic, like talking about, you know, relationships and their marriage and life with the kids and so on and so forth. Nothing topical, obviously. How could they? However, a source close to production saying, really, the only reason that Kelly and Mark are filming ahead of time is that the show, just like every other year, will go on hiatus during the summer. And so they're trying to, like, build up this fresh material. so that there are some new things for viewers who are committed and still watch during the summer.

01:57:58 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 1:

So they don't have to play the replays with Ryan.

01:58:01 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so somebody who works for the show said the schedule fluctuates weekly. This is nothing new. This has been done in the past. Nick and Erin Carter's mom is in jail. Well, she's not in jail anymore, but she ended up in jail after arguing with her husband over the TV's remote control. Law enforcement sources say Jane Schneck was arrested over the weekend after drinking and getting into a verbal altercation that turned physical. Jane was listening to music so loudly on her TV, her husband couldn't sleep, so they got into a confrontation over the remote. Jane grabbed his wrist because apparently he had whipped out his phone to record how crazy she was getting over the remote control. He didn't like how Jane touched him, so he called the police. Again, this is the mom of Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. When cops got to their home, officers watched the cell phone video and decided, all right, we're arresting her for battery. So she was booked Saturday morning. She eventually posted bond and was released from custody the same day. And lastly, Rihanna in the Super Bowl halftime show is officially the most watched halftime show of all time. Her performance attracted 121 million viewers during that February 12th broadcast. I swear my son, Smith, attributed to this being a record, he watches that halftime show. This is not an exaggeration. At least twice a day since February 12th.

01:59:39 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Did you see what Nielsen did with the Super Bowl, too?

01:59:44 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, they also revised their ratings report. So this year's Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Eagles. Most watched event ever. Yeah, in history, 115.1 million people. They previously said it was about 113 mil, and then they kind of... What ended up happening was they had people that have ratings, meter things that they carry around for television or have them on their TVs. And they said that they had an inaccurate account of their watching and didn't account for that. Which, you know why this is important for the NFL? That's how they charge the advertisers is based on how many people are watching. So now they're going to have to owe money to the NFL or the NFL is going to get money for these advertisers.

Catching that I completely Said Louis Tomlinson's name wrong I said Harry Tomlinson just because I joke with Megan all the time about Is there anybody else in that band That's worth anything To Harry Styles And I knew It was going to come back you ever know that you ever do Something where you do it so much that You don't even realize that you do it And you know it's going to bite you in the ass And that was one of my ones I said that You just recently are you just one Harry Tomlinson

02:01:24 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 5:

tickets. Plus, you're acting like a lot of these guys has not come

02:01:28 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 3:

out with great music. I know. There's actually been a couple of songs that I really liked.

02:01:32 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 5:

Nile Horn song Heaven that came out just a few weeks ago. You, of course, pick a song that

02:01:36 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 3:

makes no... All right, go ahead.

02:01:39 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm so sick of your disrespect. Heaven? All of us One Directioners are going to scream at you. Heaven. Nile Horn's so

02:01:46 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

good. You know what my favorite of any of them, of any song from any of these guys is?

02:01:52 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 5:

It better be a Harry Styles song.

02:01:54 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 3:

No, Shannon's close Honestly, Shannon, that might be in the top five Pillow Talk was a good one That was Zane Nope, this one right here

02:02:03 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 5:

Strip it down

02:02:04 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 3:

Good song, come on

02:02:05 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 4:

It's good We should still play this as an older song on our station You have the worst taste in music You won't even play it. It's so good. Remember the song?

02:02:31 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 3:

Lydia agrees with me. I see her bouncing in the other room right now.

02:02:34 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

This is my favorite part right here. Strip that down for me Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

02:03:04 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 3:

Strip that down, girl Strip that down, girl

02:03:10 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 4:

Who's that, Quavo? Yeah Or somebody else? Yeah

02:03:14 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 3:

Such a good song Tony, put that in

02:03:18 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 5:

No, Tony, play it Heaven

02:03:19 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 3:

Send it to the research team And tell them to throw some research on that one I agree with you, Megan

02:03:24 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 5:

I like Heaven That was good Heaven is so good Now you gotta play it It got slept on

02:03:28 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Heaven, is it a song that's in the Billboard Top 100 right now?

02:03:33 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 5:

I don't know where it charted, but I can 100% promise you it did not get the love it deserved.

02:03:39 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Heaven from, who is it again? Niall Horan. Niall Horan.

02:03:46 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 6:

I'll check on its Billboard chart because I'm more curious.

02:03:58 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 5:

It made it to number 62. It needed to be higher.

02:04:04 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 3:

Did we play this as a I Heart exclusive one week? Yes, we did. Okay, I remember that.

02:04:09 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 5:

It's so good. It's actually not Barry. I also want you to know somebody just ran into my studio and... A Zane song. Are you kidding me? We're playing with the whole one.

02:04:24 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 6:

Slow Hands only made it to number 11 for its peak position.

02:04:27 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:04:28 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:04:29 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 3:

Look at you.

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 5:

This chorus, this chorus.

02:04:36 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 3:

This is like coming this September to a theater near you.

02:04:40 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 5:

Yes. It is. That's why I like it so much. They love each other so much. Or a coming-of-age indie movie where someone's riding a skateboard in the rain.

02:04:50 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 6:

All right, make up a storyline. Go. You're so good at this.

02:04:52 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 3:

coming to a theater near you starring Megan from the Mojo in the Morning show about a girl

02:05:00 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 1:

who found love by not ever leaving her couch. It was heaven. Rated PG-13.

02:05:12 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there's no sex scenes, Megan. You get nothing.

02:05:16 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 1:

Rated R.

02:05:18 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Megan.

02:05:20 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 1:

That's actually not bad. Megan's right on this one. That's a good one.

02:05:25 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 2:

We slept on this.

02:05:27 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 1:

We did. I'll tell you what, man. These music people

02:05:30 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 2:

There's a

02:05:37 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

That Ed Sheeran song that we're playing right now To me is a good song But I think this Heaven song might be better Than that Ed Sheeran song

02:05:44 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 2:

I always thought Harry Styles driving Off of Harry's house was one of the best songs That we didn't play on the radio

02:05:50 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 1:

So here's the thing with you You get to your point And you make it and everybody agrees with you And then you have to come up with a point After that that ruins it for that point

02:06:01 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 2:

See I have to push boundaries around here And I have to tell people why I'm right all the time

02:06:06 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 1:

Like you had such a great point with Heaven Even listeners are texting in right now going Megan is so right that's such a great song Oh my god I'm gonna put that in my phone right now Another couple people saying I'm requesting it right now Hopefully you guys will play that song And then you go with the other one Then the other song that I really liked

02:06:23 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Lewis Capaldi Bruises also didn't get airplay I had to I had to I'm sorry

02:06:29 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 1:

Agitating him now. No.

02:06:32 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 4:

What's the other one?

02:06:33 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 1:

The other one was, what was the song with Taylor? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. I liked this one, too.

02:06:40 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 4:

Glass Animals, Heat Waves?

02:06:41 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 1:

No, this one. No. No, no, no.

02:06:44 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I don't want to live forever.

02:06:46 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember this song? I thought this was actually a good song.

02:06:48 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the music video?

02:06:50 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 1:

This was a good one. The Zane and-

02:06:52 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 5:

Wasn't that the one in the hotel?

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift.

02:06:54 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 5:

Were they both going to the hotel together? Am I making this up in my head? Wait, that was hot.

02:06:59 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was a Fifty Shades song. What? It was a Fifty Shades song.

02:07:04 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it was from?

02:07:05 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:07:06 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 1:

It's the same soundtrack that The Weeknd's first hit was on?

02:07:11 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this was a good song. Can I admit something to you?

02:07:15 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:07:15 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 5:

I still have never seen Fifty Shades of Grey. Oh, boy. Which is wild. Read the books, just never have seen the movies. Do I need to? Okay, never mind.

02:07:26 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I've never seen it either. I always thought it was weird Chelsea never wanted to watch it And I always thought It'd be weird If she came home And saw me watching Fifty Shades of Grey

02:07:34 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 2:

I thought that she would

02:07:37 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Kind of be like What are you doing Do you remember this song at all Does anybody remember this song

02:07:42 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 2:

I just wanna keep calling your name Until you come back home

02:07:46 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah it's a good song I just wanna keep calling your name

02:07:52 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 5:

Until you come back home Let's keep going Is there a story for this one Like a movie

02:07:56 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 1:

Um, yes This is about, this is about You, right?

02:08:02 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay

02:08:03 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Coming to a theater this August A story about a girl Who got dirty on the 30s

02:08:11 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

But then found Jesus

02:08:15 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 1:

So they had to change the name Of the feature on the show It was Gospel on the 10s

02:08:25 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I like Megan's better

02:08:29 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay hold on And I'm going to play for you guys My ultimate song of One Direction The song that literally if it comes on And it's not what makes you happy But if this song comes on And it's usually like On one of those serious channels That's like a bad channel That you don't ever find yourself But if this song comes on I listen to it so loud in my car Loving every minute of it

02:08:54 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 4:

All right, I'm throwing this out there just as a random, okay?

02:09:07 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to put three together, and you've got to tell me which one is the best out of the three. Ready? One Direction. NSYNC or Backstreet Boys. Rank them now. Go.

02:09:24 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 4:

Can I go?

02:09:32 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Yep, go ahead.

02:09:33 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 5:

BSB NSYNC One Direction. I knew you were going to say that, but that's okay.

02:09:38 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

We don't have to be the same person.

02:09:41 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 1:

What would you say?

02:09:42 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 3:

Backstreet Boys is absolutely dead last week. I knew it. Are you putting One Direction first? No. So I would say for going, like, individuals, then yes, we've had more successful One Direction areas. But NSYNC is number one for me, and One Direction is number two. Harry Styles is my number one of all time.

02:10:03 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You don't like the Backstreet Boys because that was like at the early stages of... No. You were like, what were you like at the time?

02:10:11 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 3:

I was a 90s baby and they pitted the boy bands against each other. You were either an NSYNC girly or a Backstreet Boys girly. And I was an NSYNC girly. I was in love with Lance Bass. In love.

02:10:22 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

I was actually a Hanson girly, but he didn't ask.

02:10:25 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, they don't get in this one. No, they don't get in this one. All right. I would rank it. This is my ranking on that one. NSYNC obviously was number one. Okay? They were the best of the best. I think I would say based on their fame and what they've done, One Direction might beat out Backstreet Boys, but think about this. Which one of these bands stayed together for as long as they've stayed together? Pretty cool. Because they're not full of drama like Harry Zayn and Louis and...

02:10:59 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Justin Timberlake.

02:11:01 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 1:

Justin Timberlake and Joey Fatone and all those guys.

02:11:05 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 2:

Sean, what's going on?

02:11:07 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:11:08 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

If Shannon ever watches Fifty Shades of Grey, you will never think the same again, and you will always look at people and wonder if they are doing that. Well, I read the books, so I know the story. I just didn't ever watch the movies. Oh, seeing the movie itself is different. It's going to bring you to tears.

02:11:27 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 1:

You think everybody's dirty. Question. move on to this one for us boy bands NSYNC Backstreet Boys One Direction LFO BB Mac now you gotta play a BB Mac song play back here I gotta move on to another topic I'll do it I really don't like you guys so much today you guys are making me feel Like really bad Like I'm going to disappoint everybody here Alright here we go

02:12:05 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god

02:12:07 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 1:

This song was so bad

02:12:09 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 2:

Baby set me free From this misery Have you guys heard that song

02:12:15 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Heaven from Nile Horn I don't know if you guys heard that

02:12:17 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 3:

I hate you Nothing's been the same

02:12:22 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 2:

Don't know what I'm living for If I am so alone

02:12:30 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Then there's nothing in this world I can do Until you're back here, baby

02:12:38 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 2:

Didn't they get kicked out of Disney World for smoking pot?

02:12:42 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Should they?

02:12:43 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:12:44 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Until you're back here, baby

02:12:47 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 3:

I did just get a text saying Back trip boys only stayed together this long because none of them were successful enough to do anything else.

02:12:54 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

Who said that? Jillian She's a child You're a child Jillian for saying that This is Mojo in the Morning Live No I'm just kidding I can't Well Friday listen Friday for the throwback throwdown Alright it is Mojo in the Morning Show 844 Mojo Live his telephone number text 95500 Do us a favor Get your phone ready because we're going to start giving away cash here in a little bit and we'll give you a chance to win you just got to go to our website and enter a word uh so that word is coming up here in just a couple minutes here on the show so you'll hear that in just a little bit uh did you get any tree trimmers yesterday off of

02:13:39 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 3:

us talking about you needing tree trimmers no which is so frustrating because i do feel like

02:13:43 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 1:

i'm dealing with drug dealers here yeah it's weird we talked about it yesterday on the show you can go back to the podcast and listen to it but there was uh the thought that the people that work in the tree trimming business secretly are in witness protection because a they for some reason can charge whatever they want for anything and get away with it without being arrested and b they never show up to anything you know they're like hidden hidden by themselves but you're trying to get a house project done um the house project that never gets done okay so i don't know what

02:14:20 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

this feeling is and if somebody can explain it to me it's probably um anxiety but I have a uh set of shelves in my room that have been laying kind of like on the wall sitting on the floor in the corner of my room for two and a half years now at this point they need to be hung up and every time I look over and I see them because I try to hide them with like piles of dirty laundry or just other things i need to put away i had a suitcase over there for a while just trying to hide it but every time i see these shelves it feels like and uh this is to quote lydia my stomach drops to my butt and

02:15:00 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

I get this weird sinking feeling of oh my god you don't ever get anything done around here and it stresses me out beyond I'll get out and then I'll turn around and I'll go work on something else again still ignoring my problems and what I should be working on and as soon as 30 seconds pass I completely forget that they're there again and I ignore them for another few weeks but I don't know why every time I see them I go I really have to do something about this get your your spit together and then just continue ignoring it and not actually getting anything done that sounds

02:15:33 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 1:

like me with laundry like that sounds like me just trying to get a normal task done let alone something bigger that is uh that is going on well i you know what this is usually something megan that guys get called out for the guys get called out for starting a project and never finishing a project it's rare to know that there are women that do this too everybody does it do they oh yeah really so this is actually more common so then us guys need to be apologized to all the husbands in the world that have ever tried to do something well i feel like you have those days i

02:16:05 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 3:

call them gsd days get spit done days yeah and you're like on a roll and you feel so good but then like kind of by the end of the day you want to stop so if you're in the middle of a project that project just sits there like in megan's case the shelves in my case right now smith has one roll of sticky wallpaper on one wall of his room and the rest is not done because i will think of a million things to do before finishing that until i get to another gsd day you know what i mean

02:16:32 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

get spit done day but you use the real word though right what's going on amanda hey mojo hey megan

02:16:40 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 5:

hate to break it to you guys but we have adhd that is so true right this is this has nothing

02:16:47 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 1:

to do with anything other than we all have adhd you're acting like i'm also the kind of person

02:16:52 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 2:

when i'm trying to clean my house i get distracted by everything and make it way messier and i don't actually get anything done because i keep trying to put something away in the wrong place yes

02:17:02 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 1:

do you do you start projects and never finish them amanda and if so what's the most amount

02:17:09 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 5:

of projects that you've ever had that were were open um so when I was graduating college I was looking for my little robe thing and I went in the basement and you should never go in the basement when you're not actually like looking for something specific especially with our issues but yeah there was like 27 probably projects and then it took me three days to finish the laundry that

02:17:33 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 1:

day so yeah thank god by the way we don't work in construction because could you imagine if we actually went i chelsea and i one time hired a construction worker that was exactly this that came and did a project for us and it took him a month and a half to finish a project that legitimately should have been done in a week it was amazing and the wildest part about the whole thing was i really didn't care because i knew that that would have been me if i would have had to do it myself like i actually sat there the whole time while he was doing the project and i'd be like all right what day are you on now be counting how many days was was going on uh texter here says that megan should actually call the plow guys the mojo in the morning misfits and see what they do during the summertime when they're not plowing maybe they trim trees It's a good point.

02:18:27 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 5:

That is a great point.

02:18:28 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 1:

See if plow guys, what do they do? I wonder if those guys, do the plow guys go to Alaska or something like that and plow up in Alaska? Do they find snow wherever they can? Isn't there another hemisphere that has snow when we're in summer?

02:18:41 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 3:

I feel like a lot of those guys do landscape.

02:18:43 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 1:

Christina, what's up?

02:18:45 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:18:45 - 02:18:47 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up? What's going on?

02:18:48 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 4:

I am one of the people that kind of procrastinate on putting away things. I moved into my house almost three years ago And I still have not gotten my kitchen done So don't worry about anything There's a lot of people out there That do not get stuff done

02:19:03 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 1:

What do you have missing in your kitchen right now?

02:19:06 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 4:

I need covered doors And I need a new countertop And a new paint job

02:19:11 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 1:

Do people come to your home to visit you And they wonder what's going on And you don't Did you tell them that you're in the process of doing things? Yeah Do you lie? And turn your radio down for just one second, but do you lie and try to make them believe that you started working on it like a week ago and not that you started working on it three years ago?

02:19:31 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 4:

I tried that, but it really didn't work.

02:19:35 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The worst is, and this is the one, anything on the inside of your house, it's okay to do that with. On the outside of the house, it's not okay because we still have mulch left over from last year. That's not new mulch. I'm wondering if it's still good. Like, you ever know that? You ever had that? The mulch delivered to your house and it gets dropped right on your driveway?

02:19:56 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 3:

In a big pile. Yep.

02:19:57 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 1:

And next thing you know, you're driving over it. to try to get into your garage. I love that this is not just for the guys that are the, you know, the husbands, the boyfriends, because usually those are the guys that get called out for not following through and doing the honey-do list. This is something that everybody does. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. This next topic actually might be something that you don't want to be listening to while you are eating, okay? I do need to say that. The reason why I need to say that is because I've never heard of somebody doing this before, and when I heard that she did this, I was actually kind of quite shocked, and that is Ashley Nix, who works on The Joe Show. You can hear it afternoons on Channel 955, also in the mornings on 93.3 FLZ in Tampa. My son, Joe Show, his best friend, Ashley, used to work on our show, does something that I never have known of anybody to ever do. And it came up the other day. Ashley Nix, because of what we do on our show, we understand this, doesn't have time to go to the bathroom sometimes. And we don't during the show because we do commercial free hours and then we only play like TikTok songs, you know, two-minute TikTok songs. So Ashley Nix does a half a poop. She will go to the bathroom Do only half the duty And then she'll save the rest For when she can go to it During another break

02:21:32 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm impressed that she can

02:21:34 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 1:

Like stop it

02:21:36 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 3:

I think we should all be worried That it's taking her that long That she needs to stop And come back to it

02:21:43 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 1:

Remember we don't have very much time To go to the bathroom and go duty

02:21:48 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 3:

You don't wait until you absolutely have to go

02:21:50 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

Well no you might have to go you don't know when you have to go, right?

02:21:54 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I guess.

02:21:55 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Has that ever happened to you where you have to, you know, you have to go really, really bad, like during the show? Like right now. Yes. No, like really, right now. Right now, right now. Okay, I'll give you a break in one second here. But that has never happened to you before where you had to really, really go?

02:22:12 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Me, yeah, but usually I do this thing, because I'm a girl with stomach issues, so I do this thing that's called mind over matter. And if I just convince my stomach to calm down It will because I am all powerful and all being

02:22:28 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing I don't know how you do it

02:22:30 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 4:

I used to not go here Mojo will tell you this I would literally go home And if we had stuff after the show

02:22:37 - 02:22:38 | Speaker 1:

It was really bad wasn't it

02:22:38 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I would save it And I would go home And it's truly so unhealthy to do that But the fact that she can go half

02:22:49 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And then, you know, I golfed with a guy. His name was Doug. And we golfed occasionally like at Beacon Hill, which is this place that's not that far from my house. And Doug used to do a half a pee. So Doug would have to pee and he would go over to a tree because that's where you go on a golf course. You just go in people's trees and stuff like that or trees that are hopefully not by any people. And if it was a quick You know like we had to go off and tee off He would go to the side And he would be in the midst of peeing And then he would stop himself And then come right back And go and hit his shot And then go back later and pee And I always thought you can't do that You know what I mean Once it's starting it's hard to get the stream going But he was able to do it But I think Ashley's is even more impressive

02:23:37 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 4:

You're actually not supposed to do that with Pete either I learned that when I sat on that tele chair If you are emptying your bladder You're supposed to empty it fully

02:23:46 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, Matt's on with us Hi Matt

02:23:49 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning everybody So I was listening to Joe's show And him and Ashley talked

02:23:56 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 1:

No, yes That would not surprise me Matt Because what Matt's saying is He was listening to Joe's show And they were talking about how Joe farted and lost And yes, that has happened to all of us I have never but but don't you think it's amazing that ashley is able to do that like i can't believe you could

02:24:18 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 2:

be able to do that yeah i don't know how you could stop it and then go back to it like i think it's it's like she said i think there's a big problem if you have to stop and then

02:24:32 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 1:

and then start start all over again and i don't know how i don't know how you do that without

02:24:38 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 2:

hurting yourself i would feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day right until i had to go again

02:24:44 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

right that's well that's what i wonder too is you know she has to sit in that studio then for a good period of time waiting for that moment to happen again but i think she kind of like has convinced her mind that she's able to move on which i can't do that

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. To me, it just makes it really, really difficult to think about anything else other than going to the bathroom. Jamar, what's up?

02:25:08 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 2:

Hi. It's definitely mind over matter. I work in landscaping, and it's definitely mind over matter because in the morning time, I do have to use number two in the morning. And I'd be up on the—

02:25:23 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 3:

You guys. Oh, we got the second dump out of the way. We're good. The second dump happened. You can't say that. Yeah, unfortunately, I'm still talking. He's still going. Unfortunately, yes, can you do me a favor? Instead of saying, oh, spit, or the word that you use, just say, oh, duty, because that's what we call the duty instead of the duty. Perfect, perfect. But yes, I would think that the lawnmower vibration would make you feel like you have to go.

02:25:51 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, in your mind, okay, you'll tell yourself that I can't go to the bathroom. I'm not going. There's no way. It literally will change the feeling. The feeling will go away if you don't focus on it. So you're like Megan.

02:26:07 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 1:

You're a freak of nature. You are a unicorn because there are times that I am in a car and tell myself that, and it doesn't work.

02:26:16 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't work for me either. I have to, like, turn the heat on because I always like it really hot when that happens.

02:26:21 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 2:

You keep thinking about it.

02:26:23 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Hey, question for you real quick, Jamar. with doing, have you ever, while you were doing your landscape work, have you ever gotten off and just like, like you would pee in a tree? Would you, did you, have you ever dutied in somebody's house that you were landscaping?

02:26:40 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

No, I dutied in the lawn, the landscaping bag before.

02:26:44 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you have. Okay.

02:26:45 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 2:

The paper bag. Yes. Yeah. You know, you got to do what you got to do out here.

02:26:49 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you, do you put those on the side of their lawn or do you take them with you?

02:26:53 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 2:

No, I take all my bags with me. Okay.

02:26:57 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Jamar the Landscaping. What's the name of the company that you work for?

02:27:01 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 2:

Flowers, janitorial, and landscaping. I love it. Do you trim trees? Yeah. Yeah. That's my last name. My last name is Flowers.

02:27:10 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Megan needs somebody to come over and trim her trees, but here's the deal. She'll let you use the bathroom if you come to her house, all right?

02:27:17 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. Exactly. Well, some customers don't want you in your house. I'm married. You know, I'll be dirty. I'm a cheat. I cut down trees sometimes. I'll be a dirty guy, so they don't want you all in their house with all that dirt. All right.

02:27:29 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm fine with you. You come to my house. You can use any of my bathrooms as long as the work gets done. Take care, Jamar. We'll see you. All right.

02:27:36 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:27:41 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, what do you got, Shannon?

02:27:44 - 02:28:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, Kevin Costner's wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner, has filed for divorce. They have three kids together. The split is said to be due to irreconcilable differences, according to her filing on Monday. Although now, stories are starting to come forward. I'm hearing that several months ago, she told him to quit Yellowstone because his busy filming schedule was impacting their family. So there's that. there's also a photo going around of Kevin wearing his wedding ring in Las Vegas posing with these two women who are like cozied up to either side of him and so the Daily Mail like has this big headline about that and they're trying to play it off like it's this big scandal well I got the story he went to this place called the Milano Restaurant and Bar with the cast and crew of his new western movie project called horizon and american saga and this the the two ladies in that picture are the owner of the restaurant and her partner so they basically put it out there saying thank you so much for bringing your cast and crew to our restaurant it was really nice to

02:28:50 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

meet you did the people from daily mail not like look further into it no i'm saying they did it's

02:28:56 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 1:

just the headline went around and then you know how this happens it's like a game of telephone and then the story changes and then you know he was cheating while he was wearing his wedding ring Well, no, that's not the story at all. However, there is a theory out there. It's like a blind item theory. And I'm trying to find out more details about this. I have no confirmations whatsoever, but it's out there that he got somebody pregnant. And that's the reason for their split. So I'm going to do some digging. I'm going to do some digging on TikTok.

02:29:23 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 3:

It's wild the resurgence that he's had because of that show, right? I mean, his resurgence has been amazing. And he's always been one of those guys, kind of almost like John Stamos, That as time goes on He seems like he gets better looking

02:29:34 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh I agree

02:29:35 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 3:

And you kind of root for people Like you're right This morning you mentioned on The Dirty when you were doing The story the first time You said it's a couple That you're sad about Seeing them get divorced I liked them together I would see I remember when he did The Feel the Dreams game That they had The first time that they did it When it was the Or the White Sox Versus the Yankees

02:29:55 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 1:

She was there with Two of the kids Or some of the kids

02:29:58 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

It was amazing It was such

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

a cool thing. So it's too bad. But you know what? It happens. I was unaware that Jamie Foxx is still

02:30:06 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

in the hospital. Remember, Nick Cannon came out last week and said, oh, he's alert. He's doing great, blah, blah, blah. Well, he is still in the hospital more than three weeks after suffering this mysterious medical emergency. And those closest to him say he needs all the prayers he can get at this point. Again, his exact condition remains secret, very tightly guarded by his family um and sources close to jamie if you ask will only say please just pray for him it was back on april 12th when his daughter corinne announced that her dad suffered a quote unquote medical complication and that's all we got but i'm told his condition has sent studio scrambling among other things he's the host of that hugely popular actually beat shazam game show on fox which was supposed to go into production just days after he was put in the hospital so So from what I understand, he's not going to be on the season of Beach Shazam. Filming actually starts today with a new host. We're also told that his daughter Corinne, who DJs on that, so she's not going to be on this season as well as she remains in Atlanta by her dad's bedside as he's trying to get through whatever he's getting through. Everybody's talking about the trailer for the season finale of Vanderpump Rules that dropped yesterday. Ariana Maddox screaming at Tom Sandoval over his affair with Raquel.

02:31:24 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 3:

Me and Raquel became like really good friends. I don't give a f*** about f***, Raquel!

02:31:29 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 1:

Your friendship is f***ing bulls***.

02:31:31 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not!

02:31:32 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it is!

02:31:33 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 3:

You know everything!

02:31:34 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 1:

You think this is the first time you've been creeping around?

02:31:37 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 3:

It was one other time.

02:31:38 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 1:

Come on. How long have you known?

02:31:39 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 3:

Tom told me this a month ago. Are you inside of all an item now, Raquel?

02:31:43 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:31:44 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 3:

I regret ever loving you.

02:31:47 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 1:

You don't deserve any of this. I get turned out so horribly wrong.

02:31:53 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 2:

You ready? You can see that on the dirty page at NoToTheMorning.com, by the way.

02:32:00 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 4:

Those production skills are amazing, whoever does that. I know.

02:32:03 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 2:

And Jon Bon Jovi addressing the Internet's concern that his 20-year-old son, Jake, and 19-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown are just way too young to be engaged and getting married.

02:32:14 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 4:

Are you guys, like, shocked to hear that they are dating each other? I didn't realize that Millie Bobby Brown, first off, was dating a Bon Jovi family member.

02:32:23 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Do you worry as a dad about how old or how young you are? I don't know if age matters. You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really is growing together is wise.

02:32:38 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 2:

I actually didn't put two and two together at first when the gossip first broke that they were dating because Jake's last name isn't Bon Jovi. Oh, it isn't? It's his legal name. What is Bon Jovi's name? It's like Bon Jovi or something. Is that what it is? It's not that far off. But when I saw it, like, it didn't even dawn on me that I'm like, oh, yeah, that's Don Bondo reason. Anyway, he was saying, he's like, you know, I think they're going to be successful because they are essentially going to grow up together.

02:33:04 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 3:

I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all. Millie's wonderful. Her whole family are great. Yeah. Really great. Jake is very, very happy.

02:33:17 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 4:

Millie dreams of running away. For all of today's Dirty. I love Bon Jovi. Yes, I do. I sounded like Howard Stern there for a second when he does the, I love Mojo. I love Mojo. Yeah. I love Bon Jovi. God, I'm sorry I interrupted you.

02:33:43 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

02:33:47 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 4:

Kudos to Mojo. Do you guys hate this kind of music?

02:33:56 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 2:

I actually like this song, though.

02:33:57 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 4:

Do you hate it, Megan, honestly? Because I listen, I put up with your Harry Styles crap.

02:34:03 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 1:

I put up with it. Like, he doesn't bless you with the presence of his voice and his vocal cords. No, it makes me think of riding in the car with my dad. And, like, my dad's in a great mood. The windows are down. He's drumming on the steering wheel. So, like, isn't that thing I would turn on?

02:34:21 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

No. But it brings back good now. Let's go. All right. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. mark cash to give away paying bills thousand dollars could be yours coming up it's mojo in the

02:35:00 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 1:

morning so our producer kp said that there is this theory that is out there and i want to know more about it because i gotta be honest with you i got on the cusp of a mental breakdown with how when seasons change like the weather changes it always feels like this change of spring to summer never goes as planned in michigan for anybody that's listening to us outside of michigan let me explain to you there's two seasons here there's winter and construction season so

02:35:38 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 2:

those are the only two seasons by the way and do you mean the change from winter to spring

02:35:41 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 1:

uh not spring to summer you're well no you're right so it's when it goes winter to summer for a couple of days and then goes back to winter and then summer like we don't have any seasons

02:35:55 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 2:

anymore we used to years ago it seemed like yes it's all very it blends all together bi-weekly

02:36:01 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 1:

rotation that's what we have and i used to think to myself that people who got affected by weather were nuts like when you know i was younger and my i had a neighbor that had one of those lights that were in their house that i truly thought that they were just growing weed that it was like a weed light before you could actually do it legally and they had the light on and i remember asking the husband i'm like tom what is that thing and he's like oh my wife gets affected by you know the weather so she's got this light that helps her not get as affected you know and it works and i thought oh this lady's crazy now i'm thinking myself where the hell do i buy one of those things because i haven't seen sun in forever but no you're so right my before my parents split

02:36:41 - 02:37:19 | Speaker 3:

my dad and mom they moved to tampa because my dad said he had seasonal depression so it's a real thing like people I face it and I feel like it's what it is it's called April theory the idea that after April life starts getting better things just like good things just start to happen and I feel like me specifically this has happened with me every single year and I don't know if it's because of like the sunshine not being out or coming out after April or if this genuinely there's something in the air that's happening after the month of April do you guys feel this way too like the your big life stuff happens after april or you just start feeling better i i i don't know about the

02:37:19 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 2:

big life stuff i guess i've i i haven't really paid attention to that but i mean i had a big life thing happen to me in january obviously when i got engaged but i feel like april i always say this april is my least favorite month aside from my sweet girl lucy's birthday because it's just

02:37:34 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 1:

gray yeah and there's nothing and and honestly as much as easter is supposed to be the holiest of

02:37:41 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 2:

holidays in the I've said this it's my least favorite holiday depressing like who likes rabbits

02:37:47 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

and who likes eggs and yeah who likes that you know Lydia said something funny to me she's like you know we're in retrograde right now and I don't know that much about astrology but basically retrograde is like a movement against the tide so right now there's like a lot of like hesitation and like you just it's there's like nope you're stuck was that that's my way of describing this That's how I feel right now.

02:38:11 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 2:

Don't you guys feel like April is the hump that you have to get over? And then the rest of the year, it's like nice weather and summer. And then I love fall. And then it's the holidays. And then it's New Year's Day. And you're like, until April passes again.

02:38:23 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 1:

It's called the April Theory. Is this really true? Like in the past, have you had what, major good changes? Yeah. Are they all good changes or bad changes? This job. This job.

02:38:35 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I started chatting with you guys around this time.

02:38:39 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 1:

oh that's right i forgot about that i actually found out about you or knew about you right around

02:38:44 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 3:

this time my tiktok started picking up momentum last year in may end of may so i don't know i feel like there is just like a there's positivity and good vibes that happen right after april

02:38:58 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 1:

please tell me that is something good going on i think it is i have a good feeling yeah okay so april theory what is the april theory that has been in the past for you or maybe you've already experienced your april theory maybe something good just recently happened to you maybe it just came about but i feel like everybody is at on the cusp right now of

02:39:19 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 2:

nervous losing themselves yeah nervous breakdowns and then once the weather gets really nice and sunny though and you can go out on a patio and be with friends and have a drink it's like life

02:39:31 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

is really good again you know what i think it is also too well i usually start up drinking again Oh, in April. So maybe that's it. Or, you know, May, June, July, because I honestly try substances. A lot of people will drink crazy in the wintertime. And I try not to drink crazy in the wintertime because I know the lack of activity that I am doing. So I try to like sober October kicks me off to going, oh, God, like I always think to myself in October, I got to behave myself.

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 6:

And then I kind of start remembering that a little bit more. And then maybe a summertime fun, summer, summer fun time. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

02:40:09 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 4:

Why are you laughing, Megan? No. Well, first of all, you and all of you wanting your son is absolutely ridiculous. All the cool kids know that we hide indoors until it starts snowing again. But I just love the way that he was like, summer of, what did you say? Summer of sun, sun of summer. Summer sun, fun time. I don't know, something.

02:40:27 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 6:

I was trying to come up with something. Summer sun. I honestly feel like I love summers in Michigan are the greatest ever. They really are. If you've never been to Michigan, this is going to be like a pure Michigan commercial for the iHeart listeners or anybody that listens in Ohio. Even though Ohio, you get the same thing, too.

02:40:46 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 4:

No, no. I think summers are better in Michigan because you have so many lakes everywhere. And you all know somebody with a boat and you all know somebody with a cottage. And I feel like down here, we're very close. We are not that far away here in Toledo. but it's kind of a luxury when you know somebody with a cottage or a boat but it's like a drive up

02:41:03 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 6:

there but for you guys it's like just common it's just fun i just i look at this that summertime is always the best time here because there's always something to do whether it be going like you said out to water or you know pool or wherever it might be or that it's nice enough to be able to do something even indoors but going outdoors to get indoors you know what I mean like going downtown for dinner at a nice restaurant or like I don't even want I am a our idea of going out nowadays for Chelsea and I is door dashing something in like that's going out to get food

02:41:44 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 5:

for a lot of parents too I speak for myself you know as a mom of two little ones the warm weather means we can kill time by going to the park It gives us so many more things to do with our kids

02:41:59 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 6:

And our summers last longer Because guess what It doesn't get dark until 9.30 sometimes

02:42:04 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 5:

Which presents an issue at bedtime

02:42:06 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 6:

I love it though I love it even with this stupid job that we have Waking up early in the morning

02:42:10 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 5:

But do you remember when you had little kids that were like I'm not going to bed It's still light outside

02:42:14 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 6:

And honestly I was fine with it Because I just let Chelsea deal with it

02:42:16 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 5:

I don't have that luxury I have nobody else to let deal with it

02:42:20 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it's just the balance of having work in the morning And then having enough time at the end of the day to do something that you're looking forward to. Not that I don't look forward to work, but, like, going home and doing an activity. And plus, the weather's more consistent. You don't have to worry about, like, oh, tomorrow's going to snow or whatever.

02:42:35 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 6:

Abby, what's up, Abby?

02:42:38 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I love you all.

02:42:39 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, we love you, too.

02:42:40 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 1:

We love you, too. Yeah, I texted in that I think my dog has seasonal affect disorder.

02:42:47 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 6:

You know, I think that dogs can get it. I really do.

02:42:52 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 1:

Like, today she went outside She wouldn't take a bone afterwards. She wouldn't eat her breakfast on rainy days. She's just depressed and sits around all day and doesn't eat.

02:43:03 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 6:

Like my dogs will take two steps outside when it's 30 degrees in May and they'll come right back in and go, I don't need to pee. And then they'll find someplace around the house that they just end up peeing. But it's true though. Like if imagine Abby, can you imagine if we had to go outside for, to do our, our duties? You know, to poop or pee. How would we like that? You know? Yeah. And never knowing. Like, we just have to do it to run to the car and get to work and do all the rest of that stuff. Those animals have to do it to go to the bathroom, and I don't know how they do it. They have to have seasonal effect. How about you? Are you doing okay? Maybe their depression is based off of your depression.

02:43:48 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing okay. I have a toddler, so it also sucks when we can't get outside. Yep. Steve just, like, ran to the window today and looked outside and wanted to go out, and I told him, you know, probably not.

02:44:00 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 6:

That's the thing. It's not even the temperature. Give me sunshine and cold weather, and I'm fine. But you can't have it with this spitting rain that's been out there. All right, let's get back on topic here for a second because I don't want to sit there and make it one of these situations. And no offense, Abby. I mean, I'll talk to you about your depressed dogs all the time. But I want us, is this thing a thing? Or is this just somebody that posted something on TikTok that's gotten some traction? The April, what is it called?

02:44:28 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 3:

April Theory.

02:44:28 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 6:

April Theory. That good things come after April. Kayla, what's happening?

02:44:34 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I'm from Bryan, Ohio. And we do sell these lights. It's for seasonal effectiveness, the source.

02:44:41 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 6:

The SADLights?

02:44:43 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 5:

Yes. They're not called SADLights like Boohoo SAD. You know that, right? No.

02:44:47 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 6:

It's an acronym.

02:44:48 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 5:

No, I know you know that. No, I know.

02:44:50 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 6:

I thought they were just sad lights because we're all sad. I mean, it's an unbelievable coincidence, isn't it?

02:44:57 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, a lot of people have it, actually. So it helps a lot of people. We even pass around here at the office when the weather is kind of crappy.

02:45:05 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 1:

Do you think there's anything to this April thing? Because if there's not, then I'm really sad.

02:45:11 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 2:

I think there's something to it.

02:45:14 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 1:

So once we get past April, you think that that's when things are going to get better?

02:45:20 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, you know how the weather is here. I mean, I'm in Ohio and Michigan is the same, but it just kind of comes and goes.

02:45:26 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 4:

some like what is it astrological I can't even say it thing there's got to be something that's making it so that after April it's better I don't know

02:45:35 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 1:

listen I'm going to tell you something that I was all for global warming because I figured that if global warming really was going to be a thing then maybe it would make things better for us in April and May you know I know I'm terrible but I'm serious

02:45:50 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 3:

I hope you get all the emails

02:45:51 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 1:

send them to me I don't give a process I'm telling Send it to me My email My email is Shannon at mojointhemorning.com You can catch me on there

02:46:08 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 5:

You know what my new favorite thing is? When Mojo Grumply says I don't give a right to him Mojo in the Morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now Pay Your Bills is on

02:46:19 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 1:

Alright, pay your bills This is an opportunity for you to win $1,000 enter this word on our website it's cash all right so enter cash right now on our website mojointhemorning.com for a chance to win $1,000 enter cash right now on mojointhemorning.com um all right a couple of things here that i wanted to get to we do have a uh naughty mom's night out coming up in a week but we're piecing together and getting the final touches put on right after naughty mom's night out we will be announcing the return of our mojo in the morning show daddy daughter dance so excited yes so so it's not that i'm going to announce it now but i'm going to say i'm just going to put the teaser out there the happening this year yeah that we are We are going to come back with our daddy-daughter dance, which I think when we did it the first time, and the first and only time that we did it was pre-2020. It was 2019.

02:47:29 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 3:

It was, yeah.

02:47:30 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 1:

It was such a huge success because it gave you an opportunity to recognize those good dads that are out there. And when I say daddy-daughter dance, please don't think about, you know, dads that are in their, like, you know, 30s, 40s, and 50s taking their young, you know, children to their daddy-daughter dance at school like you see the pictures all the time. That's cute. But I'm talking about 20, 30s, 40s, 50-year-old women taking their dads. Like, literally, it's the exact opposite of what the daddy-daughter dance is when you're a little kid.

02:48:04 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 3:

My dad still says, and Megan, I don't know if Scott Mick feels the same way. I'm sure he does. He said it was one of his favorite nights of his whole entire life.

02:48:14 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 5:

He would say that if I wasn't there. Okay. It was so fun.

02:48:21 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 3:

He loved it.

02:48:22 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 5:

No, I think out of all the things we do, there's lots of different things that are fun for different reasons. But this was like special in a way. Yeah.

02:48:31 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 1:

It really was. And it was such a cool way to recognize because we hear all these stories all the time about, you know, the deadbeat dads or douchebag dads or, you know, all the guys that that haven't fulfilled what should be a requirement that they are actually in a child's life taking care of their children that they've parented. These are the dads like your dad, Shannon, like Megan's dad, like me. Right.

02:49:00 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 3:

who are actually good people.

02:49:05 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 1:

I want to do a couple of stories here and then we'll get out of here for today. Shannon reported this earlier this morning, but this was a big news story. I think I talked about it yesterday in Trending News or the last couple of days in Trending News that, you know, that Texas guy that is responsible for the killing of five people, he was wanted for shooting his neighbors Remember that story?

02:49:31 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, his neighbors actually, I think, very politely said, can you please stop shooting in your yard? Or in your yard, we're trying to get our baby asleep.

02:49:39 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was out there shooting a gun, which somebody told one of the news stations that was common in this area of Texas where this guy was from where people would just go out at night and just shoot their guns. I guess if they're off in the middle of the desert or something like that, that's something that they do. But this guy was found. They apprehended him yesterday. Ready for this?

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 2:

they found him under a pile of laundry.

02:50:05 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 3:

The suspect is in custody. This morning, the days-long manhunt in Texas for Francisco Orpeza is over. He was caught hiding in a closet underneath some laundry. He was wanted for allegedly shooting and killing five of his neighbors, including a young boy, after they asked him to stop shooting his AR-style weapon in his yard for fun because it frightened their baby. Video shows Oropesa handcuffed after being captured last night in the city of Cut-and-Shoe, Texas, about 20 miles away. Just last night, the reward in the search was raised to $100,000.

02:50:40 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 1:

The tip for the suspect's location came in through the FBI's tip line. And we just want to thank the person who had the courage and bravery to call in the suspect's location.

02:50:51 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 3:

No word on who called in that tip at 5.15 p.m., but by 6.30, Oropesa was in custody, now held on $5 million bond. He will live out his life behind bars.

02:51:04 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so caught, somebody's going to get a reward out of the deal, and that guy hopefully doesn't ever see the light of day. The Michigan House passed a bill yesterday to permanently allow to-go cocktail sales. So this is something that came up during COVID-19 pandemic where the legislature allowed to go sales of cocktails for restaurants that were transitioning, you know, from selling indoors to outdoors and then having to close down. But they decided that they were going to see how this went. They actually did. The next it will be headed to the Senate. And then if approved, it will go to Governor Whitmer's desk for her signature. If passed, it passed with a vote of 102 to 5 with only three people not voting.

02:51:56 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 5:

I know it's like it's huge for restaurant sales. I totally get that. And I'm happy for that. But something about just cups of alcohol that I know are supposed to be sealed in your car makes me nervous.

02:52:09 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 4:

I mean, they are sealed. I remember doing it during COVID.

02:52:13 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 5:

One time I got one that was, and I put this in quotation marks, sealed, and it was a sticker on the lid. Like, you could lift it up and put it back down. It just makes me nervous. There needs to be big regulations on what sealed means.

02:52:28 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

02:52:29 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 5:

I thought you were, okay, yeah. Like, have you ever gotten a bubble tea and they had that plastic on the lid that you have to, like, break through with a straw? Yeah. I would prefer something like that because you can't re-close it.

02:52:39 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 2:

I got the thing.

02:52:40 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:52:40 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 2:

The new lids that Starbucks has. You cannot take those lids off. They're unbelievable. It used to be that they had lids that would fall off and they would spill all over you. Now the new lids, especially the colder drinks, are impossible to get off. Have you guys ever been to New Orleans to experience drive-thru daiquiris? It was you. It's the best, isn't it? Actually, if you're not the driver, you can drink.

02:53:04 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was so weird. I've just never done anything like that before.

02:53:08 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you that the idea of it was great and very rare did you ever see someone drinking and driving when I would go in, you know, and do that because they knew that if they got pulled over, there was going to be extra scrutiny over the fact that they were, you know, with an alcoholic beverage open in their car.

02:53:27 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:53:27 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of this, and this is actually good for the restaurants. This is really sad to hear this. Founders Brewing Company closed its Detroit tap room. They say the West Michigan, the Grand Rapids-based brewery, one of the best in the world, Michigan's largest, cited a change in the craft beer market right now coupled with the struggle to try to regain foot traffic from the COVID-19 closures. Downtown restaurants are struggling right now in Detroit.

02:53:56 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 4:

That makes me really sad. Something happened there. I think, Megan, you're thinking of the one on the west side of the state. There was.

02:54:03 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 5:

No, I thought there was, like, an incident in the Detroit one.

02:54:06 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, because remember, wasn't there, like, someone was racially profiled or something? That's what I thought. I thought that that was... That might have been the Detroit one. I can't remember.

02:54:16 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 2:

Here's the story right here. The Founders Brewing, again, sued for racial discrimination.

02:54:22 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:54:22 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

A story that came up from... Was that the Detroit location? Yeah, they said that there was a lawsuit. Let me look real quick. The suit was brought about against founders by a black employee who worked there from June 2021 until 2023 claims that the environment became so objectively racially hostile that she had no choice but to resign. And then she is sued. That is right now pending as we speak. But the average person hasn't spoken to a neighbor in three weeks.

02:55:00 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 3:

weeks. So this does not surprise me because when we talked on our show a few weeks ago, matter of fact, maybe a month ago about whether or not, you know, you had some interaction with your neighbors, I couldn't believe how many people said that they never talked to their neighbors. So 2000 adults discover that 56% of those in local groups will talk crap about a neighbor, but not even talk person to person with the neighbor. They'll go into their Facebook groups, which you've talked before about your Facebook group is highly entertaining Shannon in your neighborhood, but they'll talk crap about them, but never go next door and do a face-to-face confrontation with their neighbor, or at least have a conversation over something that they were not happy with. The number one things that people are upset with their neighbors about loud dogs inappropriate parking and littering plus one of the biggest things that people have said that is a big deal it's the irritation of the person's personal voice being too loud they say that the neighbor is actually too loud themselves not just their dogs that are barking and causing problems but them specifically that are causing problems yeah that was the one that your neighbor had, right?

02:56:19 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 6:

Uh-huh.

02:56:20 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 3:

Where they were a little too bad. Was that a flute or was it?

02:56:24 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 6:

They're actually really good. They're not bad by any means.

02:56:27 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 3:

They're just, they like to practice outside. Yeah. And the last one here, delicate dumping is the new breakup trend. Relationship expert says that delicate dumping is another perhaps lazier version of quietly quitting on a relationship.

02:56:45 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 6:

So what is it?

02:56:46 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 3:

The person is technically committed, but they have stopped putting any effort into the hopes that the person that they're dating will dump them first.

02:56:55 - 02:56:57 | Speaker 6:

This is what I do every time I want to break up with somebody.

02:56:58 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 3:

You just kind of like just sit there and don't do anything, right?

02:57:02 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. I don't ghost, but I don't put in any effort. It makes me feel better that they break up with me because then it feels like I didn't hurt them and they made the decision, even though I really made the decision.

02:57:11 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 3:

See, I'll be honest with you. Chelsea, my wife, is listening to that right now, and she's listening to it going, oh, my God, is he delicately dumping me? No, Chelsea, it's not the case. I am just a lazy lover. So I just apologize. That is the new form of this whole thing. All right. Have a great day, guys. We are done. Oh, thank God. The never-ending show today. I, for some reason, was all over the place. Was it fun?

02:57:35 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, see, I like the shows when you feel like you're all over the place.

02:57:39 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 3:

I have not taken ADD medication since I had my heart surgery, and today was the first day that I felt like I needed it. For some reason, I was kind of scatterbrained, and I think the problem was I got too good of sleep last night.

02:57:51 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:57:51 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good for you. I know. I actually went to bed at 9.30 or whatever, woke up at 3.30, and still on the same side that I slept on when I went to bed.

02:58:03 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 6:

That's a good sleep. You passed out.

02:58:04 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I tossed and turned the entire night. I think I slept completely through. did. All right, have a great one. We will see you tomorrow. War of the Roses tomorrow. Make sure that you're listening for that plus more Taylor Swift tickets and paying your bills. Bye. Oh, that's the wrong thing. See that? I told you. I need that ADD medication.
