Let's go. Ten years been legit, they still figure me back. As a young, it was too much to cope with. Why you think the BX nickname and cook? I should have been called dumb robbery. Stalk shit, or maybe grand larceny. I did it all, I put the pieces to the puzzle. Just as long, I knew me and my people who's gone bubble. Came out the gate on some flow jokes. Fat brother with the, he was the logo. Can't sit my, don't dance, he just fill up my pants and do the rock away. Now lean back, lean back. Madison, what do you want to hear?

00:07:27 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 1:

I want to hear a push on my butt and a pussycat dog.

00:07:30 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

00:07:33 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. Thank you, you too. I love you guys. Love you so much. Come hollering. You got it like that. Big Snoop Dogg with the lead pussycat. I'll show you how I throw that. Yeah, I want to throw that. Me and you one-on-one treated like a showdown. You look at me and I look at you, I'm reaching for your shirt, what you want me to do?

00:07:50 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you to loosen up my buttons, baby, but you keep running, say what you gon' do to me, but I ain't see nothing, I'm telling you to loosen up my buttons, baby, but you keep running, say what you gon' do to me, but I ain't see nothing. 00:09:06 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

welcome to the mojo the mojo in the morning show this is the mojo mojo in the morning show cinco de mayo on mojo in the morning show who's making margaritas it's mojo in the morning show are we making them today i got a damn margarita who wants a margarita i think we need some fun today it's Cinco de Mayo celebration of yes celebration of Mexican independence the independence that has made it possible that we can have a wonderful Mexican restaurant on every street corner here thank you if it wasn't for Cinco de Mayo we would not have Taco Bell so we got Taco Bell because of that so I want you to remember

00:10:00 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 1:

that so we celebrate today i don't think there was a taco bell before cinco de mayo became a big day in the mexican independence day um it's also my son luke's birthday happy oh that's right five five five happy 18th birthday to my son luke wow oh my god the kid has grown he's now 18 and guess what i am legally not responsible for him anymore he can actually do whatever he wants well my mom

00:10:31 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

would always say when you turn 18 you can do it oh you're right about that i think we've used that

00:10:35 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 1:

threat before too you told them before that but i will say this to you he cannot do anything that he wants because he's still under my roof and he still needs me for financial support to go to college so i'm just saying legally yes legally but i can but i can kick him out and not feel

00:10:51 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 2:

bad about it right i wouldn't say the not feel bad about it part you are allowed to kick him out i hope you feel bad about it i don't know why does it weirdly hurt my feelings that he's 18 though

00:11:02 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 1:

i know it sounds weird isn't it i don't like it i the part of it that's you know weird it's funny because i listen when i say to you i feel old i am old all right i'm 52 years old but it feels weird to have your baby be you know grown with a deeper voice than you and that yeah that's the weirdest part about the whole thing but although I feel like I have a deeper voice than you right now that is kind of true too it's called allergy season right um so I got to tell you guys and I don't have a ton of time because of this you know what do I even bring up a topic right now I played so many songs that I'm almost buttoned up against a uh a commercial break why don't I do this I'll bring up a topic here in a second but let me just tease what we got on today's show today's mojo in the morning show is going to be so much fun as you have probably wondered all week long whereas mike mike is on vacation he's enjoying himself what a great week to take off too because the

00:12:02 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

weather's just been crappy here and he looks like he's having a blast oh and he's you know what and

00:12:07 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 1:

it was one of those social media he was all worried about going with ally because she was pregnant she's about to give birth to this baby and he was freaking out about what's gonna happen and how things are going to be for them. And it looks like these guys are having so much fun. I'm worried, though, because I do worry that they have to drive home and they're going to start driving home, I think, later today. But could you imagine if they give birth in, like, West Virginia? That poor kid forever will have to say that they were born in West Virginia. You know what I mean?

00:12:35 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 2:

That is a curse.

00:12:36 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 1:

That's a horrible curse right there. I couldn't think of anything worse than that. But I'm just kidding, by the way. We do have some listeners that listen to us in West Virginia.

00:12:44 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

So sorry.

00:12:45 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

We got a couple of listeners. Bill and Stephanie, they're married, and they're brother and sister. We just think that they're wonderful people, so we love those guys so much. But this morning on the show for the Throwback Throwdown, special guest, a celebrity playing throwback throwdown this morning that will make you guys, I think, all scream, but also I think can make every one of our female listeners go crazy. I promise you that you will have fun with this. And they say that they have been practicing listening to the 2000 hip-hop station on iHeartRadio. It's actually a really great way to study it. That is a really good one. You just kind of listen to it. Makes it very easy. Hi, Laura. Laura wants to correct me on something. What's that, Laura?

00:13:36 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Roger. How are y'all doing?

00:13:38 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Doing fantastic. What did I say so far this morning? I said Cinco de Mayo. I said, yeah, my son's birthday. I talked about the throwback threat. What did I say?

00:13:48 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 4:

You said, Sino de Mayo, we're celebrating Mexican Independence Day. That is not correct at all. It's not? Yeah, isn't that in September? It is in September. It's actually, Sino de Mayo is celebrating the victory over France. It's like celebrating the war.

00:14:04 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

What the hell was France and Mexico doing, hanging out with each other? They seem like they shouldn't be together.

00:14:10 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 4:

That's too much information for me this morning. I wasn't expecting a call this early in the morning from KP.

00:14:15 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you text in? Oh, this is you then, huh? Okay.

00:14:18 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

00:14:20 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 1:

All right. You know what? No, no, no, no, no, no. I appreciate that. Thank you for doing that. How are you going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Because it's funny how we celebrate all these holidays by drinking. Think about this. St. Patrick's Day, we drink our faces off. We celebrate the independence of, you know, this country by drinking crazy. crazy, and then we celebrate Cinco de Mayo doing the same thing.

00:14:42 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, drinking is part of it, but you know, you just gotta celebrate the culture a little bit and enjoy their food and enjoy their music, and you're all good to go. Guacamole free

00:14:52 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

for everyone today, okay? That sounds good to me. Hey, question for you. This is a very serious question. Do we like our case

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 4:

melted or do you like the shredded cheese on top? Oh, of nachos?

00:15:04 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if you're putting it on nachos. If it's nachos, I like the shredded cheese. Same. I don't like the liquidy cheese. I don't like the

00:15:09 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 4:

liquidy cheese gives me the liquidy

00:15:12 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 5:

problems. It makes the chips soggy. Yeah. Wrong. Yeah, I think that's true. And also tacos don't have cheese. Like real Mexican tacos don't even have cheese. Really? So nachos, yeah, that's true. So nachos probably not melted either.

00:15:26 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 4:

Now, how do I know that you actually are

00:15:28 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 5:

an expert when it comes to mexican culture well i was raised in san diego my whole life so i do have a little bit of uh experience with it but all right well we'll get we'll give it to you

00:15:39 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 4:

she's she's closer to the border than we are um all right how smart are you it's mojo in the

00:15:45 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 6:

mornings backing the day we have to go back in time where we give you a bunch of events and you

00:15:50 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 4:

tell us what year it happened all right this was the year that american idol had kind of a weird group that was their judges and it didn't last very long. Do you remember when the judges were Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey and Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj did not get along?

00:16:05 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 3:

Why did you act in my hat? In the elevator you acted as though I was looking at the hat in a way. I didn't say you were looking at the hat. I said you were looking me up and down.

00:16:15 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 4:

It was like a train wreck of a show that year. This was the year that the Super Bowl was won by the New York Giants, the football Giants winning their fourth Super Bowl in this year. And the big song from Pitbull and Chris Brown, International Love.

00:16:45 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 6:

What year was it? You talk a big game in the car. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Mojo in the morning testing your memory this early in the morning this is Mojo's Back in the Day what year did this stuff happen

00:17:05 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 4:

it was the year that Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were the two judges on American Idol and they did not like each other let's just put it that way They were kind of like the two type of judges that, honestly, you see in a bar when people drink a little bit too much at the end of the night, and then they're just arguing with each other. The Giants, I'm sorry, not San Francisco Giants, that would be the baseball team. The New York Football Giants won the Super Bowl in this year. One of the most amazing catches ever took place during that game. And the big song that was on the radio was International Love from Pitbull and Chris Brown. What year was that, Ashley?

00:17:58 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 5:

2012.

00:17:59 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

It was. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with the prize. We're going to give you those wrestling tickets. Congrats.

00:18:07 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. Thank you.

00:18:08 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 4:

AEW wrestling happening at Little Caesars Arena. We'll set you up with a pair of tickets to go to that. And you got big plans for this weekend?

00:18:16 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 5:

um nope i'm working but my daughter has a soccer game so oh that's not you know what thank god you

00:18:23 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

don't have to sit out in the weather that we had last week right with soccer you can enjoy yourself

00:18:28 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 5:

yeah her soccer game got canceled last weekend because of the rain yeah you know what's amazing

00:18:32 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 4:

is that soccer was always a sport though that for some reason it could be the nastiest of weather and those poor kids had to go out there and play during it yep it didn't matter the condition of the field they're they're out there and then they get muddy and they get in your car right afterwards um we're gonna we're gonna set you up with a prize hang on the phone for one second we got taylor swift tickets it's text for taylor text taylor t-a-y-l-o-r right now to win a pair of tickets to go see taylor swift you'll have a chance to win if you text taylor t-a-y-l-o-r standard text and data rates to apply we'll have tickets from now until june 9th and 10th when the show happens.

00:19:10 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:12 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 4:

All right. Shannon's got a lot of dirty. It's Mojo in the Morning show. The 5 is 6.55 also coming up here in just a little bit.

00:19:20 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, we have a verdict. A jury found Ed Sheeran not liable of ripping off Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On. Ed was present in court for pretty much this entire legal battle. He even testified and performed during the trial. We talked about that. But he addressed the media outside of the courthouse after the verdict, taking jabs at the Marvin Gaye estate and accusing them of trying to alter his song in a way for the jury to believe it was stolen from Marvin Gaye.

00:19:48 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm just a guy with a guitar who loves writing music for people to enjoy. I am not and will never allow myself to be a piggy bank for anyone to shake. Having to be in New York for this trial has meant that I've missed being with my family at my grandmother's.

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 3:

funeral in Ireland, and I will never get that time back.

00:20:02 - 00:20:06 | Speaker 4:

And remember, he said if he lost this thing, he was going to be done with music. Think about that.

00:20:06 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 3:

He missed his grandma's funeral because of this. Yes. And it turned out that the jury didn't believe the gay family for, you know, what their beliefs were about that song, but how do you forgive something like that, you know?

00:20:19 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 6:

I don't want to put a recess in the trial. I feel like that's a worthy enough reason to take a couple of days off. Yeah.

00:20:26 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 4:

Weird. Jamie Foxx's medical status had apparently not changed when friends got on social media this week desperately asking for prayers but also updating fans on his condition. He is still in the same condition he was in three weeks ago and again we don't know why he's in the hospital but remember even yesterday friends of his like Kevin Hart insisting he's getting better. Now a source who recently spoke to one of Jamie's closest, closest friends, also described the family as holding things very close to the vest. They're not giving many details. All everyone knows is it does seem serious. Again, Jamie Foxx breaking his silence and posting on social media. Not quite sure if it was him or not, but it was on his account. Appreciate all of the love, feeling blessed, followed by a bunch of emojis. An update on the death of Twitch. Steven Twitch boss. Remember, he was Ellen DeGeneres' DJ. Jay just really tragically took his own life late last year, leaving his wife, Allison, and their kids behind. Well, Allison says that their kids still ask when dad is coming home.

00:21:36 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 5:

It's honestly something I wouldn't wish for anybody. It's really hard. To us, daddy's in the stars, so we can go outside and talk to him whenever we want. First off, they just ask, when is daddy coming back? And that's a really hard one. And then it'll be like a couple weeks later, like, but does he come back when he's older? Like, when daddy's older, he'll come back.

00:21:56 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 4:

She's gut-renting. She said that she wants to dedicate her life to helping others in similar circumstances.

00:22:01 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 5:

There's a large stigma that comes with it. But we don't know what's going on. I don't know what's going on in his mind. What I would really love is to bring awareness to mental health, open up the conversations, but to hopefully help people to feel comfortable asking for that help.

00:22:19 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

There's a rumor going around that your boyfriend, Mojo Tom Brady, might be considering quitting his new 10-year $375 million deal with Fox Sports. Have you heard about this? No, I haven't. So this is coming from NFL insider Andrew Marshalland of the New York Post, and he says there is definitely a possibility that Tom might not like the idea of being tied up with Fox Sports for the next decade.

00:22:43 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 2:

It fluctuates. Now, it was at 51% that he's going to do it to 49%, 49%. With the reasoning, it's so much money, he'll try it for a year. However, I talked to a couple of people recently, close to Brady, and I kind of feel like I'm going more 49% chance he does it, 51% chance he doesn't. I don't think he wants to travel that much. He's going to go private. I think Brady's a guy who, if he's in, he's all in. So he's not going to be showing up day of games like Joe Buck and Aikman do sometimes. He's going to be there early.

00:23:17 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm one of those people, by the way, that loves Tom Brady, but I'm starting to get like this feeling that he wavers too much with things. You know what I mean?

00:23:27 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, and here's the thing with this. If he does decide to walk away from the deal, there is nothing, zero, that Fox Sports can do to prevent him from doing so because his contract technically hasn't started yet.

00:23:37 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 3:

What's your weight? What was your weight?

00:23:39 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 6:

Welcome is all I wanted to say. Oh, welcome.

00:23:42 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 3:

Welcome.

00:23:42 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 6:

To have any iffy thoughts about Tom Brady.

00:23:44 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I just want you to know, No, I will not come over to your side on Harry Styles. I'm not doing it.

00:23:50 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 6:

I don't care. I don't care if you like Harry Styles.

00:23:52 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 3:

You get me on some things, but you're not getting me on others.

00:23:55 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 6:

I need you to not like Tom Brady. That's what I need.

00:23:58 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, the Kid Leroy accidentally pulled a dine-and-dash. It was actually his security team.

00:24:05 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 3:

Accidentally.

00:24:06 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 4:

He was supposed to provide the credit card for this meal Tuesday night at this Irish pub in Springfield, Missouri. Somehow they forgot to pay him. So the Kid Leroy and his team only realized the mistake after somebody posted about it on social media. They reached out to the restaurant first thing yesterday morning when it opened, and not only did the Kid Leroy personally cover the $133 bill, he also tipped their server from that night. Her name is Monique, a whopping $2,500 for all of the trouble on a $133 bill. It's pretty nice. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on thedryofthemorning.com.

00:24:43 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com. mojo in the morning so i realized something i am not a guy's night out kind of guy i know this sounds weird because i'm a guy's guy you guys look at me all the time and i look like a guy don't i i mean i look like that type of a guy that can kind of like

00:25:29 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 2:

do the guys guys stuff we're not supposed to be laughing no i know we're just you know what just

00:25:34 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 1:

let that go i find it not fun to not have anybody have my back anymore but well okay let me explain this let me explain last night i did my very first week of a thing i would never have ever done in my life but i'm trying to step out of my box a little bit i joined a thursday night men's golf league And I'm going to say this to you guys. I ain't a golfer. I'm not a good golfer at all. But it was to build up, as Chelsea said to me, it was to build up a little camaraderie between me and some guys. Actually, she didn't say that to me. She said, you need to do something other than radio. Like, you need to have something other than being just on the radio all the time or going out with the family all the time. She said, you need to have some guy stuff.

00:26:23 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think, you know what she's starting to realize? You can't put all your eggs in the radio basket.

00:26:26 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 1:

She's starting to realize that she's going to have to spend a lot of time with me when Luke goes off to college. And so she's like, I need this guy to find friends. Ding. Yes, there you go. Okay, so my buddy Will signed me up. I didn't even sign up for a men's golf league on Thursday nights. Started last night, did it, and I realized I don't like hanging out with other guys. And I'm going to say this to you. I know that there are some people that will say that I'm joking about this because, you know, We talk about going out with friends all the time or going out to parties and things like that. That's one thing. But there's co-ed people there. There's women there. When you do a guys night or guys golf league, it's a bunch of guys that are hanging out golfing together. And to be honest with you, I don't know if necessarily I'm at that stage of my life where I need to meet any more people. I feel like I've met a lot of people in my life And I got a nice little circle of people That are around me And they put us with people that I don't know And I gotta sit there and have like Small talk with them and stuff like that And honestly There's some people that you're like I don't know if I really want to hang out with that particular guy And then I started hearing this So before we even went golfing Before we actually got paired up with these other two guys Which these guys were nice guys They were alright, they were cool But there's a bunch of guys there that all they do the whole time that I was listening to them, I was overhearing their conversations, is talk badly about their wives.

00:27:55 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wait. I'm so happy. Wait.

00:27:58 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 1:

The one guy was like, I heard the one guy say this, and I won't say who it was because I don't even know who he was, but I could describe him. He looks exactly like the type of guy that would say this. He goes, this is so much better than having to hang out with my wife and my kids tonight.

00:28:10 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's a tough group. I feel like that's a dangerous group, actually, To be around frequently I don't know how often this cult league meets If it's once a week or whatever Every Thursday for the next I don't know how long Because I feel like it rubs off on you

00:28:26 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 1:

You think I'm going to become like that?

00:28:28 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 2:

Well it's like if that's their only topic of conversation You know and you're constantly being inundated with that You don't want to go down that path

00:28:36 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 1:

Well and I didn't hear like a full conversation It was just like kind of a snarky comment like that But I heard that and I'm like Oh I know I don't want to be around that guy Because I'll be honest with you I don't know if his wife wants to be around him I think she's happy that he's not around there

00:28:51 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Why don't you create a team with people That you know and you like Like Steve and Victor No, I'm saying it's not on your own

00:29:00 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 1:

No, so here's the thing And just make a date each week

00:29:04 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 2:

That you guys go play

00:29:04 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, here's the thing It's kind of the competition thing I think Will liked You guys have Megan met Will I like Will. Have you met Will, Shannon, yet? I don't know if I have or not. If you haven't, you'll meet him. He's great. He's awesome. Oh, I mean, honestly, he's kind of cool because he's 39 years old, so he's younger than me. He's got young, young kids, and he's funny. He's very, very funny, and he's my teammate, but then they pair you up with other people, and then at the end of the night, you all get together, and you eat together and stuff like that. Oh, okay. I understand. You eat at the golf course. and the the but the only problem uh with the the whole going out with all the other friends is that uh then you got every week it's like guys we're gonna do this whole thing so the league makes it more organized to do it okay so that's the whole thing of doing it but do women not like going on girls now nights out or do you guys like i know you go on a bunch of girls nights out i love girls matter

00:30:04 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 4:

fact you were out last night right yeah yeah you like it uh-huh but it's also because i'm choosing the people that i'm that i'm going out with and surrounding myself with so i know i'm gonna have a good time this it's like up in the air you don't know who the heck these people are do you like

00:30:18 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 1:

hanging out with a bunch of girls megan or don't you like to have a little guys every now and again

00:30:21 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 3:

a little uh no why would i like hanging out with guys you don't like it really i like i like hanging I mean, I've been a little facetious. No, I probably prefer hanging out with girls. I'm just in this weird situation right now where one of my besties had a baby this week. So, like, we're in the we can't really see anybody right now phase. And that kind of sucks. But, yeah, I mean, I think Shannon hit the nail on the head where the difference here is who you're choosing to hang out with. And right now, you are not choosing to hang out with these people, but you're stuck with them. Can I tell you something? Small talk is exhausting.

00:30:59 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it really is. That's how I feel every time I have to accompany Smith to a birthday party for a kid in his class. I don't know these other moms or dads, and I have to sit there and talk to them for two and a half hours at the gymnastics place.

00:31:13 - 00:31:16 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you be that mom that just drops them off and leaves?

00:31:16 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 4:

He's five, and he has separation anxiety, so no, I can't.

00:31:21 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny is that I remember those days, too, of going to the birthday parties and things. Oh, my Lord. That was actually very stressful to, like, sit there and try to talk to people.

00:31:31 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 4:

Some of the parents are cool, but the other ones, I'm like, I don't know you. I just, yeah.

00:31:36 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here's my thing, though. I really enjoy being around women, and I think that I should actually golf in a women's golf league. I think I should actually.

00:31:45 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 4:

You'd probably do better.

00:31:46 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 1:

I would have so much more fun.

00:31:47 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 4:

I mean, socially, not with your score, your game.

00:31:50 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Women are just so much more interesting to talk to, where guys just sit there and they grunt and stuff. You know what I mean? Like they sit there I'm telling you

00:31:57 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 4:

You gotta be careful With that group Complaining about their wives

00:31:59 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 1:

That is gonna be no point out Can I be honest I heard three different guys Say it At three different times I didn't have to golf with them But I know who those guys are And next week If I do get paired up Against them I'm gonna like Sit there the whole time And I'm gonna come up With like 12 topics For the show Based on why And then what I'm gonna do is We're gonna actually Videotape me Calling their wives To find out Who truly is The pain in the ass In this relationship Yeah

00:32:25 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 3:

I feel like and I like these topics, so don't get me wrong, but I feel like the only two topics dudes talk about together are sports and politics. I feel like there's no range of conversation.

00:32:35 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 1:

Seriously, there was no, honestly, politics at all. It was all talking about sports or talking about sports, stuff like that, and then complaining about something.

00:32:44 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you throw a little Real Housewives gossip

00:32:46 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 1:

into the mix?

00:32:47 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 4:

Because you know everything.

00:32:49 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing. Honestly, that's what I know. I could sit there and, hey, Hey, are you guys watching the new, you know, Real Housewives of New Jersey? It's really awesome. What's going on, Devin?

00:33:02 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I was just calling in to agree with Shannon that new moms, like meeting new moms in classes, that small talk is the worst. It's exhausting. It's mildly stressful. It is so stressful. Yes, it is so stressful. And you don't want to say the wrong thing or be too, you know, too honest. Yeah. You know, it's exhausting.

00:33:24 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 1:

You feel like they're judging you a little bit, don't they?

00:33:26 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes. It's like I'm, like, back in high school or something.

00:33:31 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Right.

00:33:31 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 4:

And, by the way, and, Devin, I think you would agree with this, the same thing can happen in mom groups as is happening in your golfer group, where sometimes all moms want to do is complain about their kids. Now, mind you, our kids can be little demons, absolutely, but sometimes I'm like, actually, I really love my kids a ton. Yeah, I kind of like my kids. Yeah, I like my kids. Exactly.

00:33:50 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Here's the thing. I realize I'm probably not masculine enough to go on a guy's nights because these guys do talk about, like, fixing things and hunting and fishing and stuff, too, and I'm not any of that, you know?

00:34:02 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 4:

You went fishing with your bare hands on that show, didn't you?

00:34:06 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 1:

That's right. I did basquatch hunting. Didn't you guys hear me?

00:34:10 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 4:

Did I make up the bare hands part? No, we didn't. I think I only watched one part of it.

00:34:13 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

The only thing bare hands that happened with me was I actually had to push the canoe out towards the water so that I could actually not be dragging on the shore there. Texter here says, interesting, Mojo, my husband only does well with female friends and gay men. Maybe that's what I need. Maybe I need to do, is there a gay golf league? That's what I would be better at.

00:34:40 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure there is.

00:34:42 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 1:

If there's a gay golf league, will you call me and tell me? Jesus Christ. I mean, that would be kind of a fun one. All right. Mojo in the morning. Oh, my God. I'm so late with this

00:34:50 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 3:

thing. Hold on. It's Mojo in the mornings. Five at 6.55.

00:34:54 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 1:

Three to one. And question number five, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is out in theaters this weekend. Which cinematic universe are the Guardians part of? Yes! Final score, 4-2. Aiden is back on Monday. That was a struggle there, Jerry. It's one of those things, Jerry, where when you test with us, you go, Oh, God, I got this thing. I can do it. But then you get on the air and it gets a little bit sketchy. But congratulations for Aiden's seventh win in a row. We'll see him next week to go for double digits. We're going to set you up with a parting gift. We got a gift card to go to a great restaurant, Tabooli. Get yourself some very good Middle Eastern food. Have a great weekend to both you guys. Our producer, if you'd like to meet KP. Yes. Go have dinner with her. You're going to be having sushi tomorrow night, right?

00:41:10 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 3:

00:41:38 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 1:

You sounded like Pitbull there When you said Dali

00:41:41 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Dali No, 6 to 8 We're all going to be there. It's going to be a good time. Okay.

00:41:45 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. So go see KP. She will be there. Mojo in the Morning Show. So Shannon, you say that you're not very good at manual labor.

00:41:55 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever made a statement when you were trying to help somebody out and they thought that you were making an excuse? Because that is exactly what happened here. So my sweet fiancé, Wes, put his house on the market this week. And today is his first day of showings. And he's doing an open house this week. And I've been talking about this a little bit. very very very tough time for him by the way emotionally because this is the house that he moved into after his divorce and spent a ton of time with his kids there so um the night before last he said to me hey the realtor gave me kind of like a punch list of things to do to get it ready for the showings on friday and it was little things like patching holes and walls like sanding and painting and doing the patching um i had to do he wanted me to do some weeding like of the front landscaping using the shop vac to vacuum like all of the storage areas in the basement I was getting stains out of the basement carpet I am the worst I was no help at all because if you don't know this I do have really bad allergies and really severe asthma this time of year sucks as you can tell I don't know if you can tell as much as we can tell in the studio my voice is just shot and it's just like this allergy thing so I start vacuuming all of the stuff in his basement like where the furnace is and you know where you just like throw all the crap you don't know what to do with. And that triggers everything. There was so much dust, so much sawdust. I was sneezing and coughing and wheezing like mad. I had to keep stopping and turning off the vacuum to take my inhaler. He was cutting ceiling tiles to like fix some of the ceiling tiles in the basement. And the dust and powder from that was making it all worse. The vacuum broke while I was using it. I suck at painting. And then my arms and my face and my neck broke out into mega hives when i was weeding his front yard because i'm allergic to pretty much freaking everything and so he said to me i thought you were making excuses because you didn't want to help me and now i just realized you are you actually are just no help he's like it wasn't fake

00:43:51 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 1:

you know what though it's it's it's funny because of who wants to do any of that work that's like a

00:43:57 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 2:

lot of work and stuff like that but you feel bad it's satisfying to me is it really satisfying to do those things i love vacuuming i actually really do like paint like i like doing those things i like organizing and cleaning um it kind of like helps settle my brain a little bit but not it just was not working out for me one of my one of my least favorite things to ever do

00:44:18 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 1:

as a uh a husband is to clean our garage out i hate that and i can't stand cleaning the garage out and so whenever chelsea will do the we're gonna clean the garage out because it's so dirty or something bad, you know, like how the winter you always get like the car snow on there and things like that, I will always try to fake some kind of an injury or something during that time. So the whole time that you're telling of everything that you're doing and everything that's going wrong for you, all I keep thinking to myself was that would have been me, but faking it the whole time.

00:44:50 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I even said to him when he was like, okay, can you just like weed all this stuff right here and kind of fix this up? I go, well, do you have gloves or like even latex gloves, anything? because if I touch this, I'm telling you, I will break out.

00:45:00 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm allergic to hives, I'm allergic to everything here. He's like, Shannon, come on, like you're being a baby. And then he saw it happen, he goes, Oh, told you. Okay.

00:45:07 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 2:

Megan, are you a manual labor type of a person? Cause I'm not.

00:45:12 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 5:

Here's the thing, I'm a strong independent woman who can, but I also like to play up into my femininity of just complaining about it until a big strong man takes care of it for me.

00:45:24 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 2:

That's what Shannon, you should have done.

00:45:26 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think I've been like,

00:45:28 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Go get a different vacuum then.

00:45:30 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I think that when I bought my house, I had to learn a lot of lessons pretty quickly of if I didn't want this place to fall apart, you better learn how to fix and do everything.

00:45:41 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

You have to figure it out yourself, right, when you're on your own.

00:45:44 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I don't know what people did before YouTube, because at least now I can Google a problem and follow along with the instructions, but what did people do before the internet?

00:45:53 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 6:

Megan, does your brother help you at all?

00:45:55 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 5:

um i should say no because that would be funny but yeah no he does literally everything around the house isn't that his rent so nice yeah no he's amazing you talked before about that like

00:46:07 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 2:

he doesn't have to pay rent because he basically does all the work is that right um yeah yeah he kind of he kind of does a little bit of labor uh to not have to pay for uh some of the stuff

00:46:20 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 5:

that has you know absolutely he uh installed my dishwasher he's fixing my refrigerator right now

00:46:28 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 2:

he's my personal handyman i like that though that's kind of like hanging out with the handyman

00:46:32 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 5:

so yeah yeah yeah i think he's getting irritated with me because now i just keep pointing stuff

00:46:37 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 2:

out over and over and over again shannon there's that app that uh that i've talked about before and i'm god i was trying to find it in my phone while you were talking about it and i couldn't find it for some reason i don't know where the hell it went but it's the app where you can go out there and uh um hold on a second here i'm gonna try one last try where you can actually ask them to come and you can have them price out what they'll do like everything that you want to

00:47:00 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 4:

do that's amazing but that was that was part of us doing all this stuff is we didn't want to pay

00:47:06 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

for it but i'm telling you it doesn't cost a crap load of money though really like we're just trying

00:47:11 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 4:

to save some money and do like all the painting and stuff ourselves but it's like really and west is really I have to give him props he is so good at all of that stuff I just it's all it's only

00:47:21 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 2:

fans basically for doing work around the house yeah that's a great idea so you just go on there and you you uh price out and you see exactly what their their spend is going to be like what or what their charge will be and then you tell them exactly what uh what you're willing to pay and then you try to do a little negotiation over the app have you guys seen those tiktoks where girls

00:47:43 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 6:

are talking about if i don't find a man soon i'm gonna go to home depot and look confused does it work no that's funny the girls are literally wandering around home depot that's where you find your man you don't need hinge nothing you just go there really my girlfriend

00:47:57 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 4:

last night was like if because we have one girlfriend who's single and she's like here's what you need to do you need to go and sit your butt in the bleachers or in the stands at a little league game because there are so many single dads and like single dads who are coaching the kids So my girlfriend was like, all right, I'm on it. Send me the schedule for all the rest of the game.

00:48:16 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 6:

But if you need, like, work done around the house, I feel like Home Depot is the perfect place to go.

00:48:20 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, for that reason. I thought you were talking about a date. That too.

00:48:24 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 5:

Home Depot is Android and Lowe's is iPhone.

00:48:28 - 00:48:28 | Unknown:

Really?

00:48:28 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 2:

That's true. Yes. That is true. What's going on, Jay?

00:48:33 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo. I think that one, good morning, by the way.

00:48:36 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 2:

Morning.

00:48:37 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 1:

I think that app you were looking for was called Angie's List.

00:48:40 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny is somebody said TaskRabbit, Angie's List. It's not that. I can't remember what the hell it is. I don't know why I can't remember what the hell it is because I've used it for people coming in shoveling snow or blowing snow.

00:48:54 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 4:

I remember you telling me about that.

00:48:55 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, was it Lawn Guru? It might have been. It might have been Lawn Guru. But they do other stuff. It was basically, yeah, that was the thing. They'll do stuff around the house. Yeah, I remember that.

00:49:05 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that one sounds familiar too.

00:49:07 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 2:

Kelly, what's up? Cal?

00:49:10 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I work at Home Depot, and there are no good-looking or any good men that come into that store.

00:49:18 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 6:

Really? Which section do you work in?

00:49:22 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 3:

Plumbing and electrical.

00:49:24 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 4:

I blame you guys getting rid of the hot dogs. They went downhill.

00:49:27 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 2:

Hey, plumbing and electrical, is it a bunch of dudes that's pants are, like, falling down on them and, you know?

00:49:34 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, I'll come in smelling like weed. It's terrible. Really?

00:49:38 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 2:

I feel like the hot ones would be in the lumber section. That's why Megan says that Home Depot is Android while Lowe's is iPhone. I never thought about that.

00:49:50 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 5:

I feel like dads go to Home Depot. My dad loves Home Depot, and people my age go to Lowe's.

00:49:55 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:49:55 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 5:

It's more aesthetically pleasing.

00:49:56 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Becca? Hi.

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 1:

app is called Thumbtack. So Thumbtack's another one of those ones, too. Have you ever used

00:50:04 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 5:

it? Yes. As a single mom, I use it, you know, for handyman stuff. Okay. Hey, speaking of

00:50:10 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 1:

that handyman, single mom, you ever get any good-looking guys come your way because of it? No, not. Unfortunately, no. No. Thumbtack doesn't work. You got to do what KP was saying. You got to head over to Home Depot and go see what's in the, I don't know, what aisle would be the best aisle. Not the ones where the screws and the nuts and bolts are. That's

00:50:29 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 5:

the confusing aisle what's up cat hi hey what's up um so if you are all of the good looking men who work with their hands in their blue collar workers you gotta go to the gas stations early

00:50:41 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 1:

in the morning that's where they're at because they're filling up their trucks right their work yeah yeah they're getting their work trucks all filled up i see it at the station next to the the speedway next to the gas radio station here the guys are all with their construction trucks their landscaping vehicles, all that stuff.

00:50:58 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 3:

Monster in hand. Absolutely.

00:51:01 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 1:

But you know what the problem is, though? The problem is if you see what their nutrition level is with the stuff that they're buying food-wise, do you really want to be dating a guy that buys, like, one of those meatball subs from a Speedway?

00:51:15 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's what he's eating. I mean, let's be real. They're going to do it either way. So just eat vegetables at dinner. Yes.

00:51:21 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 1:

Just don't allow them to use your bathroom when they come over for a day. Megan, you're supposed to get hypnotized this weekend?

00:51:29 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I'm having a really hard time with this because usually when I'm very skeptical about something is when it bites me in the ass. And I'm pretty skeptical about getting hypnotized. And one of my girlfriends wants to do it this weekend. And I'm not really on board. First of all, I think that it doesn't work. and I think that I will be very bored and just rolling my eyes at everything going on. But my worst fear is that what if it doesn't actually work

00:51:57 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 2:

and then I embarrass myself by doing something pretty awful. What are you going to get hypnotized for? Excuse me, is it just for fun or is it you're trying to like do or not do something?

00:52:07 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, just for fun. Okay. Yeah, I think it's just supposed to be entertainment, not like a quit smoking or anything like that. It's just supposed to be like silly. And for me, this seems like a lose-lose scenario because I'm either going to embarrass myself or not have a good time.

00:52:22 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The only time I've ever seen a hypnotist, I've never gone to one, but we did our high school class all night party the night we graduated. And they brought in a hypnotist. And I will never forget some of the stuff that he had, like the kids in my class doing. And my sweet friend Natalie was hypnotized to behave like a barnyard animal. And I'll never forget the hypnotist asking her, what are you? And she goes, I'm a little pig. And then she kept oinking the whole time. And it's like things that people wouldn't, like she would never fake that. You know what I mean?

00:53:04 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea did it one time and was up on stage massaging her breasts. And I'm going to say this to you about my wife, Chelsea. She's not a massager. And when she saw the video of it, she was mortified. So, Megan, it does really work. Does it, though? And they can do some things to you.

00:53:23 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

Or is it just social pressures to get you to do things in front of a crowd? That is true.

00:53:27 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 1:

What are you doing it for? Again, what's the-

00:53:30 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Just for fun. Just for fun. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:53:33 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's not like you're doing it to quit smoking or anything like that?

00:53:36 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:53:36 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 1:

Jordan, what's going on? Nothing. you smoke. I don't know why I would say you're smoking, but what's up, Jordan? Just the fun stuff. Yeah.

00:53:43 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 4:

So I did, I went to a hypnotism show, and they picked me out of the crowd, and I was, like, begging. It's like, yeah, this isn't going to work, whatever. I walked up, and he explained to us that if your head's not in the right space, and you just fight it, you're like, God, this isn't going to work. It's not going to work for you, no matter how good it is. Yeah. So, it's like, I was, it's like, I was like, okay calm down it's like it sort of worked for me but the kid next to me just oh he could play him like a puppet he could have him do whatever he wants and he had no idea by the end of the show

00:54:23 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

it was really weird wow so uh what were you thinking though that they were going to make you do jordan because you sound like the type of guy that would fall under the spell

00:54:36 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 4:

right right yeah so it's like it's like i'm totally playing this i don't want to do it and they're like no no calm down relax we're not gonna do that and it sort of worked but he could kind of figure it out and he would like tell people like okay is that working for you

00:55:00 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 6:

It was not working for you. It was really good. So, like, all the people left, it's like it was truly the people. So he can probably figure her out pretty quick if it's going to work right now.

00:55:11 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Karen?

00:55:15 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. I have a story, too. I was at my high school reunion and all-night party, and they did it. So it was about 4 in the morning. We were pretty tired. I was kind of like a goof in high school. So I think people thought, you know, she's faking it. But I'm not joking. A bunch of us kids on that stage, I don't know if it's because we were tired. They told us we were going on a plane. And at that time, I was petrified of planes. So I was, like, freaking out. I couldn't go. So everybody else on the stage got to go on a plane. And I went on a train. And then they had to keep saying, okay, and then Karen on the train. And they made us just do really stupid stuff. We were, like, laughing hard. We were crying. We were, like, pretending we were in a bodybuilding competition. I just remember we did a bunch of stuff.

00:56:00 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 7:

Karen, I need to go with Megan this weekend just to video this, to put it up on our Instagram and Facebook.

00:56:08 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. Yeah, we try to be tired, though, because I'll tell you what. I also said there was a foreign exchange student, not that this is funny, but when it was time to wake up, he didn't wake up right away. Oh, my God. Everybody was, like, nervous. Everybody was, like, trying to sleep.

00:56:22 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 7:

Megan, that would be you. Megan would be sleepy, and they'd be like, what do we do to get her out? Andrew, what's going on? hey good morning guys morning what's happening megan's supposed to go get hypnotized this

00:56:33 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 6:

weekend right so megan i actually went to see a hypnotist um pretty much right after i got out of high school me and my guy friends were like hey man i'll pay you 50 bucks if you go see this if you go get hypnotized i'm like yeah right whatever so i took the bride and i went to go get hypnotized and i'm telling you by the time i started to the time i ended i felt weird and very confused but very relaxed because you know you you learn so many things about your childhood your family your your roots and it took away all your stress it took away all my worries all my my deadlines and commitments and it was just like the most outpouring experience of my life

00:57:22 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 7:

the only problem though is you don't remember anything do you when when you wake up see the

00:57:28 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 6:

thing is when you wake up when they snap your fingers and they count from like one two three then you're like in a comatose you're like in a comatose state right like we're not thinking about anything and they want to know like your deepest secrets your deepest thoughts anything see that's

00:57:45 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 3:

I'd be super scared of what I would reveal. That's what we...

00:57:51 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't you? Well, I mean, I found out so much stuff about my family that I didn't know as a kid. I didn't know about my uncle drowning at 18 years old. I didn't know about my family in, like, World War I, World War II. And I'm like, whoa.

00:58:09 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Well... It opened my eyes to a lot of things, man. And made me a better person.

00:58:15 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 7:

I just want to know Megan's true thoughts. That's what I want to find out.

00:58:20 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 5:

Megan, don't be scared.

00:58:21 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 3:

What if they're all very happy, like pleasant things? Oh, my God. That way it would throw off our world.

00:58:28 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 7:

Bring her back to the regular Megan right now. Motoria Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, with the Dirty on the 30, I know that it was big news yesterday. A lot of people were keeping track of whether or not the jury was going to come back In this Ed Sheeran case, they did come back, and is he quitting music?

00:58:49 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 3:

He is not quitting music. A Manhattan jury found Ed Sheeran not guilty, not liable, really, in this case. His song, Thinking Out Loud, did not infringe on the copyright of the classic Marvin Gaye song, Let's Get It On. Ed Sheeran speaking to reporters outside of the courthouse yesterday.

00:59:08 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm obviously very happy with the outcome of the case, and it looks like I'm not having to retire from my day job after all. If the jury had decided this matter the other way, we might as well say goodbye to the creative freedom of songwriters. We need to be able to write our original music and engage in independent creation without worrying at every step of the way that such creativity will be wrongly called into question.

00:59:31 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 7:

That sounded like a gunfire or something like that.

00:59:33 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 3:

I think he, like, fumbled and dropped something. But he also talked about the emotional toll of the trial for him. He said, you know, it required him to miss being with his family for his grandma's funeral in Ireland. And he said, I will never get that time or this time back. Lizzo is scheduled to perform a show in Montreal last night. Had to cancel just hours before the show. She posted this video wrapped in a blanket and wearing a face mask.

00:59:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mom.

01:00:00 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 3:

to y'all. I had a sore throat last night, and I had a, and I went to bed, and I woke up this morning, and it was worse, and my body's weak, and I have chills, and my head hurts, but this is getting worse, and I have to make the unfortunate decision to cancel today. Just can't perform tonight. This is the second time I've ever had to cancel due to health in my entire career. And I will make it up to Montreal.

01:00:32 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

So sorry. Do you think that artists do that because they know that people get pissed that they cancel the shows, kind of like the Morgan Wallen

01:00:39 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 2:

thing? I actually thought about that. I think it was actually pretty smart of her to make a video instead of just releasing a statement. Do you think she's playing it up though a little bit though? Yeah. I mean, I hate to say that, but it did to me sound like when Lucy doesn't want to go to school, she's like, my stomach hurts. And then when you tell her And then she goes And I think I have a cop too

01:01:00 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 4:

And then when you tell her That she can go back up To her bedroom

01:01:03 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 2:

But by the way, girlfriend is a spectacular actress She really is Yeah I know

01:01:06 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 4:

And by the way And then by 2 o'clock in the afternoon They want to play with their friends

01:01:10 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 2:

She's like, mom Can we go get ice cream?

01:01:12 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

01:01:13 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 2:

Alright, Megan You probably know way more about this story Than I do But Shangela Right? Is that right? Shangela Former RuPaul's Drag Race star or contestant um this is a story man is yeah she's being sued by he does she go by he or she um i i believe it's he out of drag and then okay okay so being sued by a former production assistant who says that he was raped by shangela after a rap party in february of 2020 now for the record shangela denying these allegations but the guy's name is daniel mcgarrigal and he alleges that shangela real name dj pierce bought him multiple drinks during this party at an la bar again this was 2020 before asking him to come back to his hotel to help him pack for a flight the next morning now daniel again who a production assistant on the show said he doesn't drink often began getting sick he was vomiting at the hotel and so shangela shangela suggested that you know he said go lay down on the bed well at some point daniel says he woke up felt shangela on the lower half of his body committing or attempting to commit sex acts says he screamed no but felt weak and said fear overcame him at that point as this assault was happening which he said included some stuff that I can't go into detail about on the air but according to the lawsuit DJ Pierce aka Shangela was aggressive physically and verbally telling Daniel McGregor McGregor I know you want it and you're going to take it now daniel said he didn't immediately report the incident because he was scared he was going to lose his job he instead just tried to maintain a cordial working relationship he finally resigned in 2021 but in a statement shangela saying i'm denying all of the allegations um against me here if there's one thing drag race fans don't tolerate

01:03:07 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 1:

though it's any sexual assault and i think that's very clear when you see the edit that sherry pie I got on her season because it came out that she was involved in inappropriate activities as well before the show even came out. And so they practically edited her out of the entire show. But Shangela is one of the bigger names that has come out from the show. So I'm truly curious as to what the reaction from the fan base is going to be. Is there going to be people defending Shangela or in the case of people like Sherry Needles or Sherry Pye where there has been controversies? they're cut pretty fast from the fandom. So it'll be interesting.

01:03:46 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Post Malone made a fans night when he traded shoes with them. This fan brought a customized pair of shoes for Post. Listen to what happened. These are so sick.

01:03:58 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 5:

For you. I saw them on stage. I was saying, like, on stage, so I wanted to make sure I could probably grab them. Okay, okay, okay. You're a legend. These are for me. Yeah. Yeah. You are so sick. Thank you so very much. That's so sick. You take mine, I take yours. Oh, is that the trade? Yeah. I didn't know it was a trade. Yeah. Listen to what he says. I'll have you know, these hoes stink, Tommy. I'll have you know, these hoes stink, Tommy.

01:04:25 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

It's like how in basketball, if you watch the NBA, they do that all the time. The players will, like.

01:04:29 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 2:

I'll give you mine if you give me yours.

01:04:31 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they'll trade, or in football, they'll trade jerseys and stuff. And then also the players will give, like, fans their shoes.

01:04:37 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:04:38 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 4:

And obviously the players sometimes only wear them like one game and stuff. But these are Post Malone shoes. Who knows how long he's wearing these shoes.

01:04:44 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:04:49 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:04:55 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 4:

Happy Cinco de Mayo.

01:04:56 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

With so much drama in the LBC, it's kind of hard.

01:05:00 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 2:

I feel like we need to celebrate some Cinco de Mayo. I was telling Shannon that having had worked in Arizona when I was kind of like starting my career, my radio career, Cinco de Mayo in Arizona was like how St. Patrick's Day is here. And I feel like Cinco de Mayo doesn't get as much of a celebration here as it should

01:05:31 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 5:

I agree with you

01:05:31 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 2:

And I think that we need to figure out a way to make it more fun Because especially being a Friday, this is the thing And I'll also be honest with you too I feel like I love Mexican food I feel like that's one of those things where you can have Mexican food Almost as much as you can have pizza

01:05:53 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I agree

01:05:55 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 2:

But I feel like there are sometimes some Mexican restaurants that will pop up and ruin it for the others. And I don't know. And I'm not going to call names out or anything like this.

01:06:05 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 5:

There was a bad one that had a few locations around here, but I think they're all closed now. Do they know what I'm talking about?

01:06:11 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

If your salsa is basically tomato paste, like if your salsa could go on a pasta and kind of, you know, if you heated it up a little bit, it would be okay. It's not salsa, right? It's just not good enough to call itself salsa. And then there are those places that have, like in the Detroit area, I love jalapenos. That's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. If every Mexican restaurant kind of played up to jalapenos level, it would be okay. The world would be a better place. And then for you, Megan, you took me to a Mexican restaurant in Toledo that was basically a Mexican. You know when you know Mexican food is good? when the restaurant is in the back of a grocery store, a Mexican grocery store.

01:06:56 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 4:

It's the day.

01:06:57 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 2:

You know, like the carnival market up here, and then what is it in Toledo?

01:07:00 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 4:

San Marcos. But as soon as you said grocery store, I know everybody in Toledo went, San Marcos.

01:07:05 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. San Marcos.

01:07:05 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 4:

Because you literally have to go through a grocery store

01:07:08 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 5:

to get to the restaurant. It's so good. You know who I'm going to see today? Our buddy, Jimmy, who owns that tamales truck.

01:07:13 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

It's the best.

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 5:

Tres Leche Snacks.

01:07:15 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 2:

He's great. By the way, he needs his own restaurant, not just the truck. Milk is filling in for Mike in West Michigan. You got some headphones on? Can you talk to us real quick? Milk, I want to know, what is the best Mexican food in Grand Rapids?

01:07:33 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 3:

I usually go to Tacos El Cunado. And where is that at, Milk? They have multiple locations all over Grand Rapids.

01:07:42 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:07:43 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 5:

How are the chips and salsa?

01:07:45 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 3:

I've never had those. Wait a second. What?

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 5:

Stop.

01:07:48 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 2:

How do you go to a Mexican restaurant and not have chips and salsa?

01:07:52 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 3:

I usually just order it via Grubhub and get tacos or taco salad.

01:07:57 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

01:07:58 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Taco salad, like the one that's in the big old crunchy bowl?

01:08:03 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, they actually do it in one big gigantic taco shell.

01:08:08 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, see, that's the thing. You know what that is, though? No offense to you, Milk. That's like going to a steak restaurant and ordering chicken fingers. You know, you've got to go for the authentic authentic. You've got to go for the chili rellenos and the, you know.

01:08:26 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I've never even heard of that. What's that? Name any other meal.

01:08:29 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 2:

Chimichangas or the tamales and things like that.

01:08:33 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 4:

Chimichangas have to be American, though.

01:08:36 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Chimichangas are American, basically. It's a fried burrito. But milk, that's like going to a Chinese restaurant and not eating an egg roll. How do you go to a Mexican restaurant and not eat chips and salsa? It's just a common thing. They don't even give you. No, it's not. You know what happens to me when I go to a Mexican restaurant? I go to a Mexican restaurant, I eat so much chips and salsa, I can't even eat my meal.

01:09:03 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I purposely, if I go to a restaurant with chips and salsa, I purposely don't eat it so I don't fill it up.

01:09:10 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Milk, you don't look like the type of guy that does that. Come on. you're telling the truth on this one here uh okay hold on real quick uh is this reyna yes you said my name right hi reyna well happy cinco de mayo to you

01:09:30 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 1:

thank you i was just calling to say also a long time listener since i was a kid oh thank you you guys are my besties you guys just don't know me

01:09:41 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, we love you.

01:09:43 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Love you, too. I was just going to say, Mega Tacos has really good food in Grand Rapids. They also don't have chips and salsa, but it's okay.

01:09:51 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

They don't have chips. So they don't have chips and salsa. How do you call yourself a Mexican restaurant without chips and salsa?

01:10:00 - 01:10:02 | Speaker 9:

I promise you, you won't even need it once you start eating.

01:10:03 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 1:

What's going on in GR?

01:10:05 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:10:06 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what's wrong with chips and salsa? You okay over there?

01:10:10 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 9:

We're okay. I mean, there's places, there's also Poncho's Tacos. They have chips and salsa, and they're also really good.

01:10:18 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Like, am I going to find out later that chips and salsa is not really Mexican? Like, that's actually something that we Americanized? Like, how they say that pizza is really not Italian?

01:10:28 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 9:

you just don't really need like if you go to like any taco stand in mexico they're not going to give you chips and salsa they're just going to give you your tacos and you're good yeah i was gonna say

01:10:37 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

when i was in mexico city when my sister lived in mexico city and i would go there was there were no chips and salsa so i have to bring my own chips yeah but they have a lote and that's

01:10:45 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 2:

yes way better yeah well thank you for the call what's up uh cheyenne what's happening

01:10:53 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I just wanted to tell you that Taqueria San Jose in Waterford has the absolute best chips.

01:10:58 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea and I ordered that on DoorDash the other night. Did you like it? Yes. I got the Trace Tacos from them, and they were steak tacos. They were absolutely phenomenal.

01:11:11 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 6:

The best steak tacos also, yes.

01:11:13 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes, they were very, very good. That was a new find for us because I'm telling you, we've ordered from a couple of those DoorDash places that are in our area, and Pontiac and Waterford and West Bloomfield, and there's one place that should be closed down. They should actually, honestly, we should have the, and it's not the health department, because I'm sure they're clean, we should honestly have the Mexican police come in there and say, I'm sorry, but Taco Bell is more Mexican than this place.

01:11:40 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Have you tried Aldana's in Troy yet? No, you told me about that. If you're downriver, Manuel's Taco Hut, Manny's, is the best.

01:11:48 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 2:

It's good stuff? Yes. Laura, what's going on? Happy Cinco de Mayo.

01:11:52 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 7:

Hey, happy one to you, too. I'm giving a shout-out to Snap Taco in Lake Orion. They are giving Sagebrush Cantina a run for their money.

01:12:02 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 2:

KP, that's your neighborhood. Have you been there before?

01:12:04 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 3:

It's literally right across from my house.

01:12:06 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Is it good?

01:12:07 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 3:

I haven't been to Snap. I only go to Sagebrush.

01:12:09 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 2:

Sagebrush is good. That's saying a lot.

01:12:12 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 7:

Oh, it is saying a lot. Their salsa is fantastic. Their chips, they have, I mean, burritos, fajitas, and they just start serving margaritas.

01:12:24 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 3:

Laura, you better watch your back. We've got a lot of sagebrush lovers in the audience.

01:12:28 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's a really good place. Hold on a second. Joshua, or what is the Spanish version of Joshua when you took Spanish class? What did they say it was?

01:12:39 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, there's a couple of them, actually. But you don't remember. Yeah, I really don't remember because I wasn't the best student. Cinco de Mayo and Alexis I'm giving a shout out They have fresh salsa made every day In Toledo And if you go to San Marcos downtown That you guys are talking about is good But don't go to the other ones that are in Toledo

01:13:01 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 5:

Wrong, absolutely wrong You could not be more wrong

01:13:04 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 4:

I go to Mexico all the time And I'm telling you, nope, do not do it The one that hurt me

01:13:10 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 5:

Get him off the phone Wrong, I will not tolerate any San Marcos slanders on this radio station. Does this not? I'm sorry.

01:13:21 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 4:

They whited it down. I'm sorry. They whited it down. I like that.

01:13:25 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 5:

They did it. But the one on Reynolds switched over to a different type of Mexican restaurant, and it breaks my heart, because that's the one that I always went to.

01:13:33 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second here. Hold on. We're going to get Joshua's name here in Spanish here.

01:13:38 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 5:

Names.com.

01:13:39 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right. Here we go. Hold on.

01:13:40 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 5:

It's going to be one.

01:13:42 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 2:

Joshua. Here we go. Here we go.

01:13:44 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 1:

01:14:15 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

I love it. How do you say Joshua in Spanish?

01:14:20 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 8:

You could say either Josue. Okay.

01:14:24 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, or?

01:14:25 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, just Josue. Or just go closer.

01:14:30 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 2:

So, Jose or Joshua?

01:14:33 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 8:

Josue.

01:14:34 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Like the guy's? Okay, Josue. All right. What's going on?

01:14:38 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 8:

Yes, the best taqueria is in Wyandotte, And it's El Camino Real on Dix.

01:14:45 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 2:

So, and I've never been there before, but I got to go downriver. Wyandotte, that's a good one?

01:14:51 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, that's in Wyandotte, right across, closer to the sun next year, but it's the best.

01:14:56 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

It's my mom's name. So, here's the thing. I trust you.

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

Because, honestly, you pronounce it right. Like, I say taqueria. You say taqueria.

01:15:06 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 5:

Taqueria.

01:15:07 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Taqueria. And what are you doing?

01:15:09 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 5:

And Taco Bell is not Mexican food.

01:15:12 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo? And if you tell me that you're going to be having, like, spaghetti tonight, I'm going to be really upset.

01:15:20 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 5:

No. We have the parade going out on Sunday in Southwest Detroit, and we're all driving our racers down Werner. Okay, that's cool.

01:15:30 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 3:

I like that. All right. Well, we will celebrate with you, all right?

01:15:34 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 5:

All right.

01:15:35 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 3:

All right. Happy Cinco de Mayo. Take care of yourself.

01:15:39 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 5:

Thanks.

01:15:40 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 3:

01:17:55 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, Chelsea and I have a lot in common. We have a similar outlook on life and things that are just going on. And you're tall, dark, and handsome like myself. Exactly. So she's got that going. That's what it is, actually.

01:18:05 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Who wants a margarita?

01:22:57 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Thank you.

01:23:57 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 1:

I think I played all the songs I have in here that are, yeah. Real quick before I, let me stop there for one second because I want to get into this real quick. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Mike's out this week on vacation, so we brought in a special guest to play the Throwback Throwdown. Slim is back on the Mojo in the Morning Show to play.

01:24:20 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:24:21 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you something? I teased you by saying That the ladies love you And one of my favorites First off, every person that remembers you From being on the show and being part of this radio program For how many years were you part of this?

01:24:36 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 5:

The show or the company? The show first About six years

01:24:41 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and how many for the whole company?

01:24:43 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 5:

Almost nine

01:24:43 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's right, because I remember that you started You and Alzara My Cousin's Radio Show My Cousin's Radio Show A Chaldean Sunday night craziness party show that was on here. Every text message. here is oh my god slim in all caps and slim i love you hearts with slim i partied with slim throughout the years i love slim so much somebody asked is slim still tall uh so this is one of my favorites 734 says i had to google what slim looked like because i'm a newer listener to the show and i also wanted to know why ladies loved him and wowza i get it thank you yeah i appreciate that slim i slim you uh did you were our executive audio uh director but then you also i always felt like you were the official like dating expert of the show

01:25:38 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 2:

and that's single for about 10 years so i don't know how much of an expert i mean listen i i feel like i understand women i understand how you know how women think um but yeah dating is difficult especially i mean especially these days listen megan i i feel like i understand what women look for in men that's just what i'm saying i think so yeah and what is it that they look for in a look for us um you know someone like physically tall dark and handsome is obviously uh you know it's kind of a stereotype uh you know qualities that women look for but also like protector provider uh someone who's confident uh you know someone who can uh you know provide for a family

01:26:14 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 1:

you know and that's about it interesting can i tell you something that i liked about having you on the show was that in so many ways you would hear over the time that we would have you know women that were on the show that would talk about the struggles of dating but you would come on and talk about the struggles of dating so it's not just a female struggle it's a male and female

01:26:36 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 2:

it's dating just is awful yeah i mean yeah especially these times it's just really difficult

01:26:41 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 1:

i think uh yeah i think a lot of technology has not helped dating it's made it worse it's like

01:26:46 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 2:

Like, you know, the roles have kind of shifted, too. You know what I mean? There's just, like, you know, I believe in roles. I believe that, like, embracing our roles is really important as a man and as a woman. So I think it's a perfect puzzle piece when they come together. But when it's, like, the opposite and, you know, men are like women and women are like men, it's very difficult to be in a relationship.

01:27:02 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 1:

And Slim, by the way, just so you know this, is kind of dating, you told me. You are. And I want to know about that maybe before the end of this throwback throwdown. Maybe. Okay. He's got, there's a couple irons in the fire.

01:27:16 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 2:

You're annoying, man.

01:27:17 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 1:

You remember this?

01:27:18 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

This is why you let him.

01:27:19 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 3:

I literally said to him when he walked, he goes, wow, it's so different. I go, a lot of things have changed, but some things are still very much the same.

01:27:26 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 1:

Remember, I'm that big brother that will always put you on the spot. Here we go. Here we go.

01:27:30 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It's Mojo in the morning's Throwback Throwdown.

01:27:34 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 1:

First pick in the Throwback Throwdown draft. Your choice is Shannon, Megan, or our special guest this morning, Slim. Sylvia, who do you choose? Slim. Wow, going right for it. Wow. He might be rusty, though. We'll see.

01:27:50 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 2:

That's okay. All right. Say hello to Slim.

01:27:53 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Slim.

01:27:54 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Sylvia. I'm really going to try to win these tickets for you. I promise.

01:27:57 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. I've been listening for years, and I miss you on the show. Oh, thank you. We, by the way, have a couple pair of tickets, so everybody knows. Tickets to see Kevin James, and then also tickets to see the Michigan Panthers, USFL at Ford Field this weekend. You can go check

01:28:15 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 2:

them out. Can I ask what that is? Is that football? USFL football, yes.

01:28:18 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 1:

It's like pro football with guys that didn't make the NFL. Okay, so amateur

01:28:23 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 2:

football. Gotcha. No, they're

01:46:47 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Tara, you are an exciting lady.

01:46:50 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Mojo. It's such a pleasure to be here. You guys are so beautiful.

01:46:53 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. We love you.

01:46:55 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 4:

We love you so much. I love you guys, too.

01:46:57 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 2:

She works in the health care field, and this just shows you, by the way, we need to pay our health care workers more because this poor lady is going to drive through a car wash with her windows open because she wants to get some extra cash. You said $350, right? That's right.

01:47:12 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

That's right.

01:47:13 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That should cover the damages.

01:47:15 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 4:

No, it actually covered the grocery bill.

01:47:18 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 2:

Listen, we're going to do what we did last week for her, Lydia, okay, and KP. We're going to make it $500 if she does this.

01:47:27 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 1:

$500.

01:47:28 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 2:

I like that. That's right. We ain't cheap around here. I know that. But we ain't more expensive than $500.

01:47:34 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 1:

Just so you know that. You're not getting any more out of us.

01:47:38 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 2:

I'll take that. So you and KP are going to head out to the car wash down the street from the station here. I don't know if necessarily topless is a good idea.

01:47:45 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, please. Listen. I don't mind. I think... Look at her shaking them. I love her. I love, like, long cannons.

01:47:55 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 2:

Tell the listeners and tell Megan who she is part of the club there of large-breasted women. Shannon, unfortunately, you say you're not.

01:48:08 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 4:

I feel very left out. You can have some of mine. Are you?

01:48:12 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, tell her what are those.

01:48:15 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 4:

These are called long titties.

01:48:17 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. What size are they?

01:48:20 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 4:

What size are they? Are you ready for that, Mojo?

01:48:25 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Listen, as long as you...

01:48:26 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 4:

My breast size are a 42J. Oh, my Lord. So specialty everything. Specialty everything. Yeah, that's expensive. It's rare that I meet somebody with larger boobs in me. I'm so sorry. I'm the part of the BBW.

01:48:42 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 1:

The BBW?

01:48:44 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:48:46 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy. Do you know what the acronym is? Is that big boobie?

01:48:49 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, Mojo, come on now.

01:48:51 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Big breast.

01:48:52 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 4:

He searched it on those websites. Stop letting him pretend like he has a breast. Big beautiful women? BBW? Yeah, BBW, big beautiful women.

01:48:59 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 2:

I didn't know that. Listen, I want to say this, Tara. I didn't even look at your boobs once. I was looking right at your eyes. Those are beautiful. Hazel. Hazel.

01:49:09 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm colorblind. I'm sorry.

01:49:11 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

All right, so listen, we're going to have you do this. We're going to have you head out here, guys, So you guys head out. Thank you so much for being in our show, you know, family for us. You're always part of the family, and we're going to give you $500 if you do this thing.

01:49:24 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 4:

Hey, well, I'm excited. Oh, can I mention my comedy show for Saturday?

01:49:28 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I didn't know you did stand-up comedy. Yes! You can't tell?

01:49:31 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm so excited. No, she- You're funny. You're funny.

01:49:34 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I thought you were just, honestly, just one of our- No. Okay, where do you work? Where do you-

01:49:39 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 4:

It's going to be this Saturday at the Focus Hope Rec Center in Detroit. and the show starts at 8 o'clock.

01:49:47 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:49:47 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 4:

Does it benefit Focus Hope? No.

01:49:50 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

It's just the center there.

01:49:51 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. That's just where it's going to be. Oh, okay. Sorry.

01:49:54 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 2:

What kind of content do you talk about?

01:49:57 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 4:

I talk about... Radio appropriate. Yes, yes, whatever is appropriate.

01:50:02 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 3:

I talk about kuda a lot.

01:50:03 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 4:

Kuda? No, don't even go there. Let's not even go there. I'm just kidding. We're done. Listen, we'll see you at Focus Hope for that. Yes, please. Thank you. All right, Tara, this is our newest Mojo in the Morning Misfit, topless Tara that is in with us. Hang out for just a little bit, everybody. No, not you. You guys leave. But the listeners got to hang out. So, before 9.15, these guys are driving through the car wash. See, you could have been listening to the crap the other morning shows are talking about. But you heard that on Mojo in the Morning. Happy. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. We'll get you caught up on the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, what's going on?

01:50:44 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, we got a verdict yesterday. A Manhattan Zuri found Ed Sheeran not liable of ripping off one of Marvin Gaye's classic hits. Let's get it on, specifically. And we've been talking about this all week. I mean, we've been talking about it for longer than that, but Ed was present in court for this legal battle. He testified, he performed, played the guitar, and sang at several points during the trial. He did address the media outside of the courthouse after the verdict.

01:51:10 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm just a guy with a guitar who loves writing music for people to enjoy. I am not and will never allow myself to be a piggy bank for anyone to shake. Having to be in New York for this trial has meant that I've missed being with my family at my grandmother's funeral in Ireland, and I will never get that time back.

01:51:24 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 2:

Among other things, he said if he would have lost the trial, he would have quit music forever. I'm really happy that didn't happen.

01:51:31 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 4:

I still am amazed that, you know, they didn't do a recess of the trial so the guy could go to his grandma's funeral. Yeah. I know. Ridiculous.

01:51:40 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 2:

I want to revisit this Taylor Swift being madly in love with Maddie Healy, the frontman of the band The 1975. Five reasons. What'd you say? I'm so glad you're bringing this up again because I got scoops. Okay, good. So, first off, five reasons that fans kind of sort of knew that they were dating. One, they got closer after the 1975 recorded songs with Taylor for Midnight's. And anytime he did an interview, Maddie would call her amazing during that process. Two, and I said this yesterday, she performed with the 1975 at London's O2 Arena shortly before her breakup from Joe Owlin was announced. okay so we're like you know listing all these things three she already met maddie's mom they took lots of photos together you can tell they're very close four maddie healy used the name of taylor's tour in an interview so last month he used a live performance to explain his decision to quit social media by referencing taylor's eras tour and he said everything happens in eras and 1975 is a very eras band the era of me being an effing a-hole is coming to an end and i do know Because I watched the video of this last night At that show in London when Taylor came out He talked about why he was going to stop kissing fans Because that was like something that he did He would just like randomly go up and start like sucking face with fans A little easter egg there And five, I did not realize this Taylor's split from Joe Alwyn Was announced on Maddie Healy's birthday April 8th, 2023 Was Maddie's 34th birthday Right smack dab in the middle of her tour

01:53:15 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

And what's Megan, what's your dirty ego?

01:53:17 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 3:

So her and Karlie Klaus are no longer friends, right? and this all stemmed from a long relationship and drama and rumors or whatever about whether or not they were dating. It turns out they stopped being friends and Taylor didn't show up to Karlie Kloss' wedding. And that was kind of suspicious. And then we saw Karlie Kloss on vacation with Scooter Braun, which obviously Taylor doesn't have a good relationship with Scooter because he bought out all of her music and she didn't want him to own it. So there was some, pardon my pun, bad blood there.

01:53:48 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 2:

That was great.

01:53:48 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. But, apparently, the rumor of her dating Manny Healy dropped on the same day that Karlie Kloss announced her pregnancy, so a lot of people think that maybe it's not true, it's just trying to steal the limelight from Karlie Kloss because of their friendship fallout. And that they're probably going to come out with music together, but they're probably not dating.

01:54:09 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Some controversy about the new Barbie movie, which is out July 21st, by the way. No. Did you see this? No. The story? Okay. Okay. Homeless men and women were filmed in the background for one of the scenes for the Barbie movie, but were not paid. The homeless were, well, here's the big issue. First of all, the scene in particular was filmed at a park in Santa Monica, a park that is kind of known for its unfortunate problem with homeless people living there. The big issue here is that the producers hired actors. They hired extras and paid them between $300 and $1,500 to dress up as homeless people. But the real homeless men and women who are in the scenes. Got nothing.

01:55:01 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:55:02 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:55:03 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 1:

That's not good.

01:55:04 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

01:55:05 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 1:

Why would they do that, though? I don't get it.

01:55:08 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea. I have no idea.

01:55:10 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 1:

And I'd love to know, like, what is the storyline that they're all of a sudden having a bunch of homeless people that are inside of the movie? Yeah.

01:55:15 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this movie is going to be way more serious than you think it is. Is it? Oh, for sure. So it's not just goobie? And I wonder if people are going to hate it for that reason, because they're wanting it to be, like, campy and fun. Which I think it's going to be campy and fun, but I think when you watch Greta Gerwig's films, she comments on society a lot. So I think it's going to be a lot deeper than people think. Yeah. And lastly, you guys all know who Meg Ryan is, right? Oh, yeah. Actress. Probably best known for being in, like, rom-coms. Harry Met Sally. You've got mail. Yeah. Well, she made an appearance, a very rare appearance, by the way. She doesn't come out much in New York City to support her very good friend Michael J. Fox for a screening for his upcoming documentary called Still. I saw the photos from the screening. Did not Even though it was her She is unrecognizable And this bumps me out so much Because I think that she is just beautiful Oh yeah And she has always maintained That she doesn't do anything cosmetic She's never had plastic surgery But man oh man

01:56:11 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm looking at these pictures She's done way too much plastic surgery

01:56:14 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Way, way, way Can't even open her eyes all the way

01:56:16 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh wow

01:56:16 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 2:

You can see what I'm talking about And catch up on all of today's Dirty On the Dirty page At mojointhemorning.com

01:56:47 - 01:56:49 | Unknown:

01:56:49 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you got tickets. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with tickets to go see our good friend Louie Tomlinson at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater. Congrats to

01:56:59 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 2:

you. Oh, my gosh. Thank you. I'm so excited. I can't believe I even got through. We're

01:57:05 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 1:

excited for you. So hang on the phone for just one second. We'll get your information. Have a great weekend. Thank you. You too. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right with you. Lydia, will you give me a little guidance here and tell me when will we be in position to go to KP and to Topless Tina for only, or Topless, why do I keep calling her Tina? It's only the second time you've done it. It's okay. It's like the whole, you know what? I'm scatterbrained this week. I think honestly this week has been one of those weeks that my head has been in the clouds. And I'll be perfectly honest with you. I have nothing to blame for it but myself and the mere fact that I have been zero focused, zero focused between the hours of 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock. After 9 o'clock, I've been focused. For some reason, I have no idea what it is.

01:58:04 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 2:

It takes you a minute to get into your day.

01:58:06 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 1:

Maybe I need to wake up like an extra couple hours earlier.

01:58:08 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 2:

You wake up so early.

01:58:10 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm already up at 3.30. Maybe I need to wake up at 1.30. Who knows? Kind of get going. Is topless Tara ready to go or no? We got time.

01:58:20 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 2:

We have about 10 minutes.

01:58:21 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Perfect. Okay, so good. Got a time in time. Naughty Moms, I do want to get some listeners in for Naughty Moms, and I'm contemplating that we, because we have two more qualifiers. Why don't we do the two qualifiers now? What do you think about that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. When I say qualifiers, you'll get into Naughty Moms, so you'll be actually, you know, tickets in, get into the party, and then you'll qualify for the hotel stay. Because I want to pick the winner of the hotel stay if I can before, you know, we get too late in the show. Yeah. Because that's such a huge prize. Yeah. And I don't want it to go, you know, unnoticed that the Daxson Hotel is giving away a stay at the hotel the night of our Naughty Mom's Night Out. Which I met a mom yesterday who's coming to Naughty Mom's Night Out. I went and got my hair cut by Katrina yesterday. And a mom was actually going. Katrina works at Six Salon which is right next to Daxton Hotel she was going into the Daxton Hotel at that time because she wanted to go and see where we're having the event and this is the wildest saying she was up here for business she's from Toledo she won the other day I think her name might have been if I'm not mistaken it might have been Jessica okay so don't kill me Jessica because like I said my head's in the clouds and it's before 9 o'clock She came for business to Detroit. She had a thing that was going on, a meeting with General Motors. Drove to the Daxton Hotel from downtown because she was, she said, close enough to go do it. Okay. Wanted to see what it looked like.

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 5:

and then that was going to be the deciding factor of what outfit she was going to wear to the party.

02:00:04 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 4:

I get it. I absolutely get it.

02:00:06 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 5:

And I thought to myself, I'm like, that's like really hardcore. Because you could have just gone online to daxtonhotel.com and just seen whatever they post or their Instagram. Their Instagram is fabulous. But the mere fact that you decided it. Megan, I don't put that much effort into this. Like, I don't even do it. Shannon, let me say this to you. I know you put a lot of effort into it. I don't put that much effort into it.

02:00:32 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 4:

But you know what? She did the right thing because that's how you get the vibe. Sometimes you can't get a vibe from photos. But when you walk into that hotel, it definitely has a vibe.

02:00:42 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 5:

She was a beautiful mom. She was from Toledo. She said just outside of downtown Toledo. So, and she said that she's bringing a friend of hers with who has not been out since she had her baby a year and a half ago. It's been a year and a half since she's had an opportunity to get out of the house. So, that's why we do this Naughty Moms Night Out. Melissa?

02:01:05 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Hi, Mojo. Is it really you?

02:01:08 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 5:

It is really me. Congratulations. You're a winner.

02:01:11 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. I need this so bad.

02:01:14 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, we need you so bad to come to our Naughty Moms Night Out.

02:01:18 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 2:

Where are you from, Alyssa? I'm from Macomb Township, Michigan. Okay.

02:01:22 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 5:

You know what? You need a night out away from those kids. It says here that you got two girls.

02:01:29 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 2:

Two teenage girls.

02:01:31 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 5:

Seriously, you're in that mode right now where you're just like losing your mind, aren't you?

02:01:36 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I lost 50 pounds. I am capital F-U-N. I am so ready.

02:01:42 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 5:

I thought you were going somewhere else with that. How did you lose your weight?

02:01:47 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 2:

I started, I am seven months not drinking, and I go to the gym at Raw Fitness in Macomb Township. They are my favorite. It's mind, body, and soul. For you. Totally ticked my life.

02:02:01 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 5:

Good for you. So are you going to drink on the 12th? Because if you do, you're not used to it, and you are going to be drunk fast.

02:02:08 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 2:

I know. That might be a good thing.

02:02:11 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 5:

You know what?

02:02:12 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 2:

That might be a good thing. I need that hotel, Mojo. All right.

02:02:17 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, you're now qualified for it. So hang on the phone. You're into the party. Who are you going to bring with you?

02:02:22 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 2:

My sister, Marjorie.

02:02:24 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 5:

All right. Melissa and Marjorie from Macomb. Is it Janie? Janie. Janie. Hi, Janie. You're a winner, too. Congratulations.

02:02:34 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I'm so happy. Thank you, guys. I love you guys.

02:02:38 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 5:

We love you. And where are you from?

02:02:40 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 3:

From Detroit, Michigan.

02:02:42 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 5:

When's the last time that you actually had a good night out?

02:02:46 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 3:

It's been a while, about a year. Oh, yeah. Everybody's due.

02:02:51 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Everybody who calls us is long overdue.

02:02:53 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 5:

And I know you've got a couple of kids.

02:02:54 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm long overdue.

02:02:55 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 5:

But honestly.

02:02:56 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I do. I've got two daughters.

02:02:57 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 5:

What is the best thing you've got for Mother's Day? Because whenever I hear these moms talking about how their kids made them, you know, those pasta pasted to a page, you know, goofy pictures that they make in school, I feel so bad for these moms that that's all they get.

02:03:12 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know. Most of the time, they just cook me dinner and we spend time together. But I really need a night out without them.

02:03:20 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, you're getting one. You're coming to the party. Congratulations to you.

02:03:25 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much, you guys. I love you guys.

02:03:27 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

We love you, too. Hang on the phone for a second. We're also writing your name into this list. And Lydia's drawing right now. All right. All right. So Lydia's drawing right now the grand prize list. Any of these two ladies winner? No, she's shaking her head. Oh, my God. I'm sorry about that. Melissa and Janie, I'm sorry, but you guys got your passes. Get your room, though. Go to daxtonhotel.com. Use the promo code MOJO. Okay?

02:03:54 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I will.

02:03:55 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 5:

All right. Hold on one second, ladies. The winner of our MOJO in the morning, Naughty Moms Night Out, hotel stay at the Daxton, goes to this week, Courtney from Toledo. Congratulations to you, Courtney.

02:04:12 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 1:

Are you serious?

02:04:13 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely serious.

02:04:15 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm about to run group at my school right now, and I just went to the dining room, and I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out. Oh, my God.

02:04:24 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 5:

Congratulations to you. We're setting you up. You got a hotel stay at the Daxton Hotel. You are going to be partying with us already at Naughty Mom's Night Out. We gave you those passes, but we're all going up to your room for a pre-Naughty Mom's Night Out cocktail, okay?

02:04:40 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Shut up. No way.

02:04:42 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 4:

All of you, Shannon and Mike. Yes. Oh, yeah.

02:04:45 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I'm telling you.

02:04:47 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

If you'll let us.

02:04:48 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 5:

Here's the deal. I'll even see if we can get like a big old bottle of Tito's or something to bring in there, okay?

02:04:55 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Tito's is my favorite.

02:04:57 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

All right. So, we.

02:05:00 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 1:

got to get you set up with the hotel room. Have you seen the rooms, by the way, at the DAX 10? I actually

02:05:04 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 3:

haven't. I tried to reserve a hotel last night just in case because I said you had till May 8th to cancel. Yeah. But I fell asleep doing it. Well, you know

02:05:12 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 1:

what? You don't even need to. Well, yes. So you got it for free. So the rooms are unbelievable. I looked online just because I was like, I wonder what these rooms look like. How amazing do those rooms look?

02:05:26 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 3:

I haven't had a night out in life.

02:05:30 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:05:30 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how long it's been. It's been a while.

02:05:33 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Who's going to watch your kids?

02:05:36 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 3:

My mom is going to watch them. Well, their dad. And then my mom's going to watch them in the morning because she has to work. But, yeah. Perfect.

02:05:43 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 1:

All right. You're not going home. You're not getting back to Toledo to at least, like.

02:05:47 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm going to try to live at that Daxley hotel.

02:05:50 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 1:

You're going to be. What was. Who was Eloise? Who was it that. What was. Was it Eloise that lived in a hotel?

02:05:55 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. At the Plaza. At the Plaza. Yes.

02:05:57 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes. You're going to be Eloise to the Daxton.

02:06:00 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that's fine. That's fine. Also, I tried to call in and say, Loma Linda's best restaurant in Swanton, out in Swanton for Cinco de Mayo. You know what? Good call. They have great chicken wings.

02:06:14 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Wait, chicken wings for Cinco de Mayo?

02:06:16 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 3:

No, but I'm just saying, like, get Mexican food, but their chicken wings are amazing.

02:06:20 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 1:

What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo? I'm going to have chicken wings. Mojo in the Morning Show. So you went out last night with your girlfriends, and you went to see some, like, Instagram sensations?

02:06:36 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Yes, Cat and Nat. They are two moms. I've heard of them. They are freaking hysterical. I followed them on Instagram for years now, and so they made a pit stop in Detroit. They do, like, a little unfiltered tour, and so they were at Soundboard at Motor City Casino last night. So Cat and Nat. Which I haven't been to in so long. It was so much fun. And what did they do? It was so fun.

02:06:54 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 1:

I know, I remember back in the day when I welcomed Andy Cohen and I got the chance to host him at the soundboard. Was it one of those where they just do Q&A or do they do a show? It wasn't Q&A.

02:07:04 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 2:

They actually did. They did kind of like a show like where, I mean, there was a lot of audience interaction, but they just sat and drank on the stage and just talked. And it was hysterical. It's basically what they do on Instagram. And then they had like this dude who was a DJ. So every, you know, every couple of minutes or whatever, he would just play a song and everybody would get up and just dance because everybody was drinking very heavily, myself included and my three girlfriends who I was with. And I think at one point, you guys know what happens when Whitney Houston's I want to dance with somebody comes on anywhere. Well, add that into the amount of beverages that I was over served last night. And I'm pretty sure at one point, and if you were there, I'm so sorry you had to see this. I was using the aisle next to our seats Because I was sitting right on the aisle As a catwalk And I think dancing down the runway I have no idea what happened But it was a really fun night

02:08:01 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 1:

It was? So as soon as the song came on

02:08:02 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 2:

I could be in the worst mood by the way And this song comes on And I am the happiest person in the whole entire world

02:08:09 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 1:

You go crazy?

02:08:10 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

02:08:10 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

And do you think any listeners that were there Might have witnessed this?

02:08:14 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 2:

I think I tried to like do a back dip at some point Hey, my friend Ashley had to catch you.

02:08:19 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's the topic that I want to bring up right now. I want to ask this question. What is the song that makes every white girl go crazy? Because I do believe that when you get, like, white girl wasted, Shannon, you do go, you know, a little nutty. Hey, where are the white women at? But you go even crazier when they do play, like, what I would call a white girl wasted song. Like a song that like Whitney Houston

02:08:46 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 4:

I want to dance with somebody

02:08:48 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 1:

Like what is your song What's the white girl anthem songs Megan what's yours

02:08:53 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 3:

Probably anything by Spice Girls like Wannabe

02:08:58 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god that's a good one 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 With somebody who loves me. With somebody who loves me.

02:09:19 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I want to dance with somebody. I want to feel the heat with somebody. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Yo, I'll tell you what I want.

02:09:33 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

There you go, Megan.

02:09:34 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 4:

So tell me what you want, what you really, really want. I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. No, tell me what you want, what you really, really want. I want to, I want to, I want to, I want to, I want to really, really, really want. All right, here's a list, by the way.

02:09:48 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 1:

I just Googled songs. These are songs that make drunk white girls go nuts. Okay. All right, here are some of the white girl wasted songs. That make them go crazy Oh my god Both of these songs are on there I was looking to see if both of your songs are on there One of the other big ones that people go crazy for? I have no idea. Maybe it was Blindsmaid.

02:10:36 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, yes. Is that what it was? Yes, yes, yes. Ready to party. Why do you lock yourself up in these chains?

02:10:52 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:10:54 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 2:

No one can change your life except for you. Don't ever let anyone step all over you. Just open your heart and your mind.

02:11:06 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Come on, let's get white girl crazy right now.

02:11:09 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Is it really fair to feel this way inside?

02:11:14 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

It's time for a Mojo in the Morning sing-along. Yes!

02:11:16 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Something, somebody's gonna make you want to turn around and say goodbye. Until then, baby, all I'm gonna let them hold down is cry. Don't you know? Don't you know? Things will change, things will go your way Lost my voice a little bit last night. Are you singing there, Kim? I am.

02:11:48 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 1:

Kim, what is your song that just makes you go crazy? Cupid Shuffle. Oh, my gosh, yes. Wait, what?

02:11:55 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 2:

No, not that one.

02:11:56 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 1:

No, Cupid Shuffle does it. You go to a wedding, this song starts playing, Fat Ann Sally's on the dance floor, right?

02:12:05 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 2:

02:14:49 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 1:

02:14:50 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 2:

For my wedding, all the bridesmaids and my mom and my sister, we all dance to dancing teams like they do in Mamma Mia.

02:14:58 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, that's cute. Megan, this is... This is one of your favorites, too, isn't it?

02:15:01 - 02:15:11 | Unknown:

I love Alba. Oh, you can dance, you can die, having the time to ride.

02:15:13 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Shannon's friend, Ashley, who was with her last night, is on the phone with us right now. Ashley? Hi, guys. How you doing? Hi. we're getting messages from listeners that were there with you guys last night that got a chance to witness the... Does Shannon do that all the time whenever I Want to Dance for Somebody comes on? I think we both do. We almost

02:15:40 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 2:

fell off a bike one time trying to do it. But yeah, that song, oh my God. And I like Big Butts.

02:15:47 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 1:

I like Big Butts, really? By Sir Mix-a-Lot? Oh, yeah. Oh, gosh. How about these ones? You guys tell me, because Some listeners are on hold. Party in the USA, Miley Cyrus.

02:15:59 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 1:

Sweet Caroline. Yep. Truth Hurts by Lizzo. That's a great one. And My Humps are all songs that people are calling in with today.

02:16:12 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 2:

I want to dance with somebody hands down. Yeah.

02:16:15 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 1:

You know what it is? It's any song that at a wedding will get the old people up, you know, and get them on the dance floor. And not that I'm saying. You're calling me old? Yeah, we have a second. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wait a second. Although, wait, it was a 40th birthday. It was a 40th birthday. I do want to, who was it again that was celebrating? Or the other day? No, there was no birthday last night. Who was the friend, though, from the other day, though, that you're celebrating with?

02:16:36 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Christy.

02:16:37 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The pink-haired lady, right?

02:16:39 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yes.

02:16:40 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 1:

Lady, girl. The lady. Yeah, she's gone from girl to lady. You move from girl to lady when you turn 40 years old.

02:16:49 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Now back to the Midwest number one morning show. Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:02 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. So we're going to go live right now to Autopolis Tara. That's the name affectionately she gets because when she was on with us talking about doing the Only Fans Challenge. You need a little extra cash. You said that you would like to do our Mojo in the Morning Only Fans Challenge. driving through a car wash with your windows down, and how much money would you want for that?

02:17:28 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

If you have me drive through the car wash, I'll take $350. But for the $350, honey, I will let these long shitties hang.

02:17:39 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 1:

That's how she got the name. We go to her right now. Tara? Yes, I'm here. Are you guys at the car wash right now, you and our producer, KP?

02:17:50 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Are you ready to do this? Get a little wet? I am ready.

02:17:56 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay. KP is there with you, too. KP, how is she doing? Is she a good driver?

02:18:03 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 2:

She is a good driver. We're just hanging out in the line right now. Everybody wants to get their car washed the same day.

02:18:08 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 1:

Because it's going to be nice this weekend. It's because it's rained also for the last week. I mean, this is not the greatest weather we've experienced, and we finally get to actually have some nice weather. What kind of car do you drive?

02:18:19 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 2:

I have a Ford Fusion.

02:18:21 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

And what were you going to say, KP? Okay.

02:18:24 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, at least it's a warm day out because we're going to be soaking wet after this.

02:18:29 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yes.

02:18:33 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait.

02:18:37 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

Are we going to witness this live or is this going to be something that KP, you're going to have to come back and produce up?

02:18:44 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 2:

I am putting it on my phone because I don't want Facebook Live to turn off and then we don't have footage. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. That's smart.

02:18:51 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 1:

later no that's very good so we'll have it on there later but we'll get to hear the audio of

02:18:55 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 2:

this right yeah how many how many cars are in front of you three i think it's like four four cars yeah it's one already in there and it's like three behind how much is the car wash and make sure we're paying for this thing how much is it so actually mojo i forgot my wallet oh you gotta

02:19:12 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 1:

You're going to be kidding me.

02:19:14 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 2:

Tara's going to have to pay, and I'm going to have to Venmo Tara because that's my bad. Tara. Cash app?

02:19:20 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 1:

KP.

02:19:21 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 2:

What is Venmo? Oh, she is Cash App, not Venmo. Cash App.

02:19:26 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 1:

Cash App. Here's the thing. I feel like we don't tie loose ends up sometimes, and it's not just KP. This has gone back to the way early days of past producers where we'll go to get to the drive-thru and the car wash and we'll be like, nobody brought their wallet? How does people not have their wallet with them for them like this?

02:19:47 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 2:

She'll get her money. Oh, no, that's what you get for hiring a producer with ADD. That's the problem.

02:19:51 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 1:

No, but this happened with past producers. I would all of a sudden be going, all right, hold on a second here. I'll Apple pay you money. or something. I don't do cash app, Tara, but should I try cash app? I always do. I do Zelle or I do Venmo.

02:20:08 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, now I need to try. They need to set my game up then.

02:20:12 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 1:

Listen, whatever way we can get you money, I don't care. I'll wire it to you like old-fashioned wiring it to you. How many cars in front of you now? Oh, yeah. What do we got, Tara? Tara, give us a play-by-play. How many cars?

02:20:27 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, let's see. is two now. Okay. That Bronco that cut us off. Oh, my God, a Bronco. He's a cutter. He cut us off.

02:20:37 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 1:

Give his license plate number out on the air. We'll shame him. We'll shame him. No, I do not.

02:20:41 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

If you're listening in your Bronco right now, you've got a CMU license plate.

02:20:47 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, there you go. Fire up chips. There's the reason why he cut. Everybody I know that went to CMU went right to the front of the line, even if they weren't qualified enough to.

02:21:01 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Oh, we got to pay now, Mojo. Okay, go ahead. Pay.

02:21:04 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go.

02:21:05 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Hello, honey. How are you? Well, you're a nice-looking man, huh, damn it? Oh, my God. You got a membership? No, we don't got no membership. You got cash, and guess what? What? You don't take cash. You don't take cash? You don't take cash.

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 3:

Uh-uh, I got cash.

02:21:22 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 1:

Tell them we're live on Mojo in the morning. Put them on the phone, and I'll say hi to them.

02:21:26 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm live on Mojo in the morning.

02:21:27 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 1:

Hey, it's Mojo in the morning. Can you let her through? I've got a membership on my Tahoe, my Gordon Chevrolet Tahoe.

02:21:37 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, we'll come over.

02:21:39 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know, but we're live on the radio, and this woman is going to get paid money for getting a car wash today.

02:21:47 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 2:

All my windows down. Can we get a shout-out? We have Jax on 12-mile or two.

02:21:53 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

I love Jax. I got a Jax membership. Nice people.

02:21:57 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 2:

We're going to take care of her today. Just give us a shout-out on the radio.

02:22:01 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 1:

You're right now on the radio. You did. You just got one right there. Hello.

02:22:05 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 2:

Yes, come and check us out. He's a fine redhead.

02:22:09 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 1:

He's a fine redhead.

02:22:11 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they are. They are cute.

02:22:13 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 1:

Topless Tara, do you like redheads?

02:22:16 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I do.

02:22:17 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Hold on. I got to swear. You can't swear, Tara.

02:22:22 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

She's got a mouth on her. I love her.

02:22:24 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 1:

Tell Tara she can't swear, even though she got excited about the redhead.

02:22:28 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, VIP. Oh, that's bullshit. VIP. Oh, my God. Okay, we're going to get this other in the middle of the dial there. This one? Okay. All right, now you're seeing Luke promote all leaders. Okay.

02:22:48 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. For those that are just tuning in right now, this is a Mojo in the Morning OnlyFans challenge week number two, where topless Tara was given the challenge of going through the car wash with her windows down. Are we ready to go? Are we getting in?

02:23:08 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, she's got an umbrella. It's the Mojo challenge. I gotta run it down.

02:23:12 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 1:

She pulled an umbrella out?

02:23:16 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:19 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 1:

That's not gonna help you.

02:23:22 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it's gonna fit in her future. Mojo in the morning. Check me out, baby. All right. On a different note, we cannot guarantee any damage in the vehicle going to this car. We got it. Yeah, yeah. We got it. Don't worry about that. We got it.

02:23:36 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 1:

That car might look better with a couple of missing parts.

02:23:41 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 3:

KP, are you ready? Come on, Mojo. Mojo, my phone is out of storage, so I have to go live on Facebook.

02:23:49 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 1:

02:23:55 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 3:

02:24:04 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 3:

You hearing us talk about it? Hold on, hold on. One second, hold on.

Yes, it's the best show, I swear. It's the best radio station of my life. Tara's been listening for 10 years. This is the best.

02:24:29 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 1:

Tara, when you come back in here, I'm giving you another hug, okay?

02:24:34 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, and you can tell Miss Kelsey if she needs me.

02:24:38 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, you got it. Are we ready to go? Are we live on Facebook now? Yes, we are live. All right, hold on. We're going on Facebook Live right now. Here you go. You got to go check it out. Topless Tara. Here, turn the camera sideways. Turn the camera sideways.

02:24:55 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 3:

Turn the camera sideways. Okay, I'm sorry.

02:24:58 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 1:

That's all right.

02:24:58 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 3:

Can you see us? I see you guys. Here they go. They're going through the car wash right now. Jack's car wash they said. Alright, here we go. Ready, Tara? Let's go. Tara's got her umbrella in here.

02:25:12 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 2:

We can't even use the umbrella? Oh, man. Her umbrella. I don't want anything to grab that umbrella. Okay, that's fair. I don't want to mess up my eyebrows. She doesn't want to mess up her eyebrows. I get it. I get it, too.

02:25:30 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

Tara, you are a sexy woman. You know that?

02:25:33 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 2:

Thank you both now.

02:25:36 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 3:

Here we go. Oh, my God. I'm shaking. I'm so afraid right now. Oh.

02:25:44 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, get on your mark.

02:25:46 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 3:

And your mark gets set, go, as she says.

02:25:48 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 2:

Get on your mark, get set, go. Yeah. Are you going to dry me off? Okay. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, God. Keep your hands in, guys. Okay.

02:26:06 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 3:

This is like Cedar Point. They got to give you the whole full thing.

02:26:10 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:26:13 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Look at how many people are on Facebook Live. It's huge. Oh, they're going through. Oh, they're going through right now. Oh, my God. Wait. Hold on. The green stuff's coming after them now. Oh, they're so in soap.

02:26:27 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 4:

They're so in soap. K.P.'s pretty new hair.

02:26:35 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 2:

$1,000 hair!

02:26:40 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 3:

How much did K.P. pay for that hair? $1,000? It's like a new wash.

02:26:47 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:26:49 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 3:

How's it going? Do you guys feel clean? Tara

02:26:59 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh the little blue spaghetti thing

02:27:01 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Tara are you going to expose those thingies Or no you're not going to right

02:27:05 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god

02:27:06 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh

02:27:09 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Look at Tara by the way

02:27:12 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 3:

Looks so great

02:27:13 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh no

02:27:15 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Uh oh Got

02:27:17 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 2:

They're shaking

02:27:23 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god Oh, they're knitting the blow-dry. The blow-dryers.

02:27:30 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. KP, your eyelashes. Look at these guys.

02:27:45 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 3:

I will never go through a car wash ever again the same way. There's so much soap in the car. Oh, my God. Give it up for them, guys. That was awesome. That was unbelievable.

02:27:58 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so good. I want to hear what the towel drying guys have to say.

02:28:04 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 2:

Can they call us? Wow, I hope so. They kind of tie me down, baby. We're going to let them call us. Oh, my God.

02:28:12 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, unbelievable. KP, you and topless Tara were priceless going through that thing.

02:28:19 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you, Mojo, this was the best bath I've had in years. Was it worth $500? You dang going right, baby.

02:28:31 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 3:

You dang going right. You got it. Congratulations, Tara.

02:28:36 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 2:

Yay, thank you so much, Mojo. I love y'all.

02:28:38 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 3:

I love you more. And by the way, you guys get yourselves dried off, and we'll talk to you a little bit, okay?

02:28:45 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:28:46 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. I'll give you a second. It's got to get things going. Appropriate song to play right afterwards. Riding Dirty. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. We'll get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, Shannon.

02:29:03 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 4:

It's a big story. A Manhattan jury found Ed Searin not liable in his copyright case that he's been in court for all week. They're saying his song, Thinking Out Loud, did not infringe on the copyright of the classic Marvin Gaye song, Let's Get It On. He was talking to reporters outside of the courthouse yesterday following the verdict.

02:29:25 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm obviously very happy with the outcome of the case, and it looks like I'm not having to retire from my day job after all. If the jury had decided this matter the other way, we might as well say goodbye to the creative freedom of songwriters. we need to be able to write our original music and engage independent creation without worrying at every step of the way that such creativity will be wrongly called into question it's amazing

02:29:49 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

the the marvin gay family or the marvin gay estates have been going after so many different people and they've been so litigious in doing this and it's worked in their favor in a couple of circumstances.

02:30:00 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 1:

where they've won cases. I wonder if this will dissuade them from going after more people because it is thought that there are about four or five artists that have songs that also could be kind of on that borderline that are big artists that we play still. So I don't know. It'll be interesting to see if they do it.

02:30:19 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 3:

Drew Barrymore is backing out from hosting duties for this weekend's MTV Movie and TV Awards to show solidarity with the writers who are fighting for better pay right now. She explained her decision in a statement that said, I have listened to the writers, and in order to truly respect them, I will pivot from hosting the MTV Movie and TV Awards live in solidarity with those on strike. Everything we celebrate and honor about movies and TV is born out of their creation, and until a solution is reached, I am choosing to wait, but I'll be watching from home and hope you will join me. So she is set to host next year's show. They said if you're not hosting this year, we want you really bad next year. And I do know that MTV is not going to replace her this weekend. So instead, if you watch, you're not going to see any host due to the strike. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are for sure dating again. It all started at Coachella. They've been out several times together since then, including hugging and holding hands at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club on Wednesday. Lots of people there witnessing tons and tons of PDA. So it looks like they are officially an item again. Amber Heard has been absent from the spotlight since the end of the Johnny Depp defamation trial in Virginia last year. I did not know this. Apparently, she quit Hollywood and moved to Spain with her daughter. Yeah. A friend of hers said she is bilingual in Spanish. She's very, very happy there. And she's just living her life and raising her daughter away from all of the noise. And her friend said, I don't think she's in any sort of hurry to return to work in Hollywood. But maybe for the right project Will she make a return

02:31:57 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 1:

That's interesting I don't know How does she afford this That's a great question They thought I lost weight

02:32:06 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 4:

I thought that some human being Had actually dropped a

02:32:12 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 1:

Grumpy I will never forget that I'm sorry I was going through the show trial audio To get that back on

02:32:23 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 3:

And a lot of stuff to watch this weekend. Obviously, the Kings coronation is happening tomorrow, so that will be everywhere.

02:32:30 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 1:

Will you be watching, Megan?

02:32:32 - 02:32:33 | Unknown:

Of course I will.

02:32:33 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 2:

And I will be booing and drinking and laughing. You can't boo your television. I hope that he's miserable all day.

02:32:40 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 1:

You can't boo. I watched the Lakers-Golden State game last night. And even though I am not a LeBron fan, I was booing it a couple of times. Golden State Warriors For how dirty they were playing But I wasn't booing out loud I was booing in my head

02:32:58 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 2:

I hope he has a terrible coronation

02:33:00 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 1:

Really? I do You hope that people are The crowds and stuff are bad?

02:33:05 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 2:

I hope it's bad I hope there's technical difficulties I hope the musicians can't go on stage I hope he gets booed I hope his wagon breaks down I hope all of the bad things

02:33:16 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 1:

In memory of Princess Diana We hope that all this stuff happens

02:33:20 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely Well, out in theaters, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Someday, I'm going to make great machines that fly.

02:33:38 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 3:

Also out, Love Again, a rom-com starring Priyanka Chopra. And the Super Mario Brothers movie is still expected to bring in around $20 million.

02:33:46 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 1:

So Chelsea and I met this couple that does something that I was very intrigued by. Chelsea and kind of thought it was goofy. And then when I presented it to her saying we should do it too, she was not very into it they schedule sex they have a sex calendar so what they do is and by the way before you think that this is not intimate this is not you know they do a sex calendar that just seems like you know their relationship is not good their relationship is fabulous actually to be honest with you

02:35:55 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 1:

because of this?

02:35:56 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 2:

They are, well, because of, I'm sure, a lot of things. First off, they're both freaking gorgeous. Like, you know what I mean? Like, in my relationship, I don't know how I married Chelsea. Some people think I must have a very, very big ding dong because I have to tell you something, they can't understand how I got her. Not the case. I think, honestly, she likes my eyes. But don't go anywhere with that. But this couple has a really good relationship. They get along very, very well, and they seem very intimate with each other. But here's the reason why they say that they schedule sex. They have a sex calendar. They put it on their calendar so that they know that they're not going to get to the end of the night or just before the end of the night and be so exhausted that both of them are going to be, I got something I got to do before I go to bed or I'm too tired. So what they do is they have it set up that they're going to do a couple of days a week. They want to make sure they have a sex at least twice a week because they've been married for now 12 years or 13 years. As time goes on in marriages, honestly, sex becomes less important to people. I know that that sounds crazy, but it does because you got kids and lives and, you know, just trying to honestly keep a roof over that.

02:37:07 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 1:

And a busy calendar in general. Yeah.

02:37:09 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 2:

So they put it on their calendar a couple days a week. They kind of sporadically look at what their calendar looks like, making sure that it's not like on baseball night or not on, you know, when their daughter has a, you know, a play or one of the things that she does, you know, the onstage stuff. And then they work around that on the days that they can actually be more into each other. You know, I will say this to you. I think it's fabulous. So we're talking to them and I look at Chelsea and I see that Chelsea's kind of into this and I said, oh my God, we finally found in all the years that we've been married a way for us to have sex more often. We're going to put it on a calendar just like Chelsea does with all the events that we have.

02:37:54 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's got to have its own color.

02:37:56 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea has-

02:37:57 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 1:

It's color coded.

02:37:58 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, have you seen our calendar? It is.

02:38:00 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 1:

No, but I mean, they make it very easy to do that now with all these different calendars.

02:38:03 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea has, so we have a calendar that's on our iPhones, but Chelsea actually has a physical calendar in one of the cabinets on the other side of one of the cabinets in our kitchen where you open it up and it will say Luke's activities, golf stuff, and then it will say Jacob's, you know, work schedule for work and then his school schedule. So we know exactly when he's doing work stuff and when he, so if we want to plan like a trip to go into Chicago or even Joe, like Joe did a promotion the other day that Chelsea and I were going to think about going out to but we couldn't because our schedule was full with Luke's stuff but it was Joe's promotional thing that he had down in Tampa to do so we go through the whole schedule and I think we should put on there mom

02:38:47 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 1:

and dad and what was Chelsea's reaction

02:38:49 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 2:

she was not into it at all she thought she said no it works she goes I go no because that's honestly one of the things like people may think that this is crazy but there are times There are times not when I would turn down sex I'll never turn down sex But there are times where honestly I don't want to have sex Because I'm so exhausted

02:39:12 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 1:

Normally I would poo poo on this idea Because I feel like either we've talked about it before I've talked about it with somebody before Like this idea of scheduling sex onto a calendar And I've always thought oh I don't want my relationship To ever get to that point where I would have to schedule it I just want to you know have it all the time And now that I It's interesting because we just had this conversation About couples therapy and Wes separately telling our counselor, you know, how many times in the past month we thought we've had, we've had, uh, we've baked cookies, whatever. Um, and it, there is something too now at this point in your lives being so insanely busy that it almost would be nice to go, okay, we have some time, you know, like between one and three o'clock today, we need to make a note to do it because you're right by the end. If you save it for the end of the day, sometimes you are just, you literally fall. into bed and it doesn't happen um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 or text 95500 I want to know if anybody does this I want to know if any people are completely opposed to this and don't see it what the reasoning is why you would do this I know exactly what the people who are opposed to this are going to say I know that they're going to say that you don't have a good enough relationship where your spouse is going to want to like you know take care of you or you take care of your spouse. And I'm going to say this to you. You're half right. No, no. I'm going to say this to you that lives get busy. I mean, I I'm exhausted. Chelsea's exhausted. You're exhausted. How many times are people just mentally drained to the other thing with sex is you're you know, we're like going through anxiety filled times right now. And sometimes it's not, you know, a good time to have it you know because then it's just the act of it not so much the actual having it and i said that to them i go here's the thing i feel like you guys are just going through the motions that this is the case and they both said no we're making sure the motions are good yeah making

02:41:11 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 4:

sure the space is good hi mojo in the morning hello hi i wanted to talk about the schedule

02:41:17 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 1:

yes do you schedule i do and what is your schedule look like do you have like a calendar and do you guys share that calendar with each other?

02:41:28 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 4:

Yes, we have a calendar actually on our wall by our bed.

02:41:33 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Really? And are you doing this because of time constraints or are you doing this because you're also maybe trying to have a baby or what is it?

02:41:39 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 4:

No, we have five boys. So, and we've been married for a very, very long time. So after a while, it just kind of dwindled and we didn't have no time for each other. And just like you guys were talking about, we just kind of fall into bed and they were so tired. So we made, you know, kind of a color coordination, like this is a time where we, you know, have sex, and then these are the times that we go on a date, just so we made sure that we made time for each other. Yeah.

02:42:06 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 5:

Do any of your boys ask about what that calendar is next to the bed?

02:42:10 - 02:42:11 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah. All the time.

02:42:11 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if I can recommend color coding sex, it should be red, right?

02:42:16 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I think mine is baby blue, but red is actually a very good color.

02:42:22 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 1:

I love that you do that. Thanks for the call. Sherry, what's going on?

02:42:27 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm sadly one of those people who has to schedule that I don't have a calendar, but my life is so busy. I work 80-plus hours a week, so if I don't make time for it on Sunday, it doesn't happen.

02:42:37 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 5:

You know what, Sherry, though? Like, my mind has really changed on this, and you say, sadly, I have to schedule it, but I actually think that you are stressing the importance of it. Like, you're making it a priority, and you're making sure that you have time to do it.

02:42:52 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:42:52 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the only thing you can do. Again, 80 hours plus a week and kids and life. Sherry, how many times is it on your calendar? Well, I don't actually have a calendar, but it's always every Sunday.

02:43:09 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's the Sabbath. Are you sure you should be doing that on the Lord's Day?

02:43:13 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 2:

That's the only day of the week that I have that.

02:43:18 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 1:

What's happening, Jennifer?

02:43:20 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Oh, being pregnant, I have zero sex drive. I know a lot of women say that they have a higher sex drive when they're pregnant. I just haven't found that to be true with me. So for the sake of my relationship, and like you said, Shannon, like putting in the time to care about it, we schedule it once a week.

02:43:39 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 1:

It's really smart to do it because of, obviously, there's times where you got to go to the doctor the next day, too. This was the other thing that she said. She's like, I have had doctor's appointments and I don't want to have sex the night before a doctor's appointment. You know what I mean? Have you ever thought?

02:43:55 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 3:

It's weird. Yes, absolutely. Like going in and talking to your doctor about it. I even asked her, like, is it normal that I don't like, it's uncomfortable for me almost sometimes. But like for the sake, you know, for the sake of my relationship, it's a priority and it needs to be. Here's a question though.

02:44:12 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 1:

What do you do if you miss an appointment? Because if you miss an appointment, you know, you might get charged. You know how they do that sometimes? Like if you miss an appointment, they'll actually give you a cancellation fee. Do you have a cancellation fee?

02:44:25 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I don't miss an appointment.

02:44:27 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 1:

You're good. You're good about that.

02:44:31 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 3:

I'll miss the other appointment, but I'll make up for it in other ways.

02:44:34 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I like it. That's good. You know what's funny, though, is I wonder if you, when you do the scheduling and you put it in your iPhone, do you ever have it on your phone where it shows the alert of what's coming up next? and it will be like you can do it within like 15 minutes before the appointment 30 minutes before the appointment yes can you imagine you're sitting on the couch reminder watching tv with the kids and all of a sudden it pops up mommy and daddy time right there on there when you go and do the that's you

02:45:00 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 4:

That's usually the look when I take my shirt off at the pool, when the pool opens up on Memorial Day.

02:45:04 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 2:

I know this is a lie, because you don't take your shirt off. I know, you're right.

02:45:07 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 4:

But that was a good joke, though, wasn't it?

02:45:09 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

It was a good joke.

02:45:10 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 4:

KP is back, and did you have to, let me see, how did she dry off? I think she changed. Did she, you fully changed? You didn't change yet? That's the same clothes that you were wearing?

02:45:19 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 1:

She smells like a walking car wash. Oh, my gosh. No, they didn't personally towel dry me, but the blowers were really blowing. They got me real dry.

02:45:27 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 4:

You went through the car wash with the beautiful and talented Tara.

02:45:34 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 1:

Topless Tara.

02:45:35 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 4:

Topless Tara.

02:45:36 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 1:

Who wasn't topless.

02:45:37 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 4:

And the blowers actually dried, not only dried the car, but dried you.

02:45:41 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the end of the video? We totally forgot that there was the blow part. And then we were both caught off guard. And our hair was, well, my hair was everywhere. Yeah. And, oh, my God, that was probably the best part of the whole car wash was the blow dryer at the end. I need one of those for my house.

02:45:56 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 4:

That's unbelievable. All right, well, you guys look good. Could you imagine? Wouldn't that be the coolest option to have in a shower where your shower gets you wet and then you just sit there and it dries you off?

02:46:08 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 2:

Because the worst part of taking a shower is getting out and you're freezing cold before

02:46:12 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 1:

you can grab a towel. I hate that. Tara, though, she had the heat blasting the whole time. I was so hot. And she's like, I thought we needed to dry off. And I'm like, Tara, I'm so hot right now. Can you turn this off?

02:46:26 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask you guys a question? How long do you keep the same towel or do you not keep the same towel? I'm like a person that likes to reuse my towel because when a towel gets put through the wash, I always feel like it's a great towel to have. But a day later, the towel is even just as good.

02:46:45 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm a two or three day-er.

02:46:47 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 4:

Are you really?

02:46:48 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Me too. Yeah. Yeah. Really?

02:46:50 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 4:

I thought, Shannon, you would be like a once a time.

02:46:54 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 2:

What is that?

02:46:55 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 4:

You go three days? I won't go more than two days.

02:46:57 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes, three days. Yeah, sure.

02:46:59 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 4:

Depends. Really? What about you, Megan? Are you more than that?

02:47:02 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 2:

I have like 10 towels, so I just grab a new one every time. Do you? That's actually what you're supposed to do. You're not supposed to even reuse towels.

02:47:09 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 4:

I'm just really lazy. You're not supposed to?

02:47:11 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't think you're supposed to reuse towels more than one time. Okay.

02:47:14 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, my routine is use it to clean yourself after a shower, and then it's usually in the bathroom just in case I need a spare towel, which doesn't get used. And then it gets moved into my bedroom for when I self tan, I stand on it so I don't ruin my floors.

02:47:28 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:47:28 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 3:

So there's a whole lifespan. That's not a bad idea.

02:47:31 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 4:

You take your towel and make it your floor towel then for a little bit.

02:47:35 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah.

02:47:35 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So what was the one the other day you asked us in the studio, Shannon, about reusing it?

02:47:40 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 2:

So it was pajamas. Okay. How many days or how many nights, excuse me, in a row do you wear the same pair of pajamas? Because for whatever reason, we all, and I'm including myself in here, we all think of pajamas as like different from clothing like of course if you wear a shirt for the most part you're throwing it in the in the laundry after you wear it right but with pajamas i know i go

02:48:01 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 1:

more than one day sometimes with my pajamas something cozy about your pajamas yes and if

02:48:06 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 3:

it's sweatpants i might go more than two days like i shower before i go to sleep so i'm clean getting into the clothes so i think it's if i don't get like warm throughout the night they're clean

02:48:17 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 4:

right they're still clean all right so 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 we want to see how dirty you mfers are and ask you this question so i'm looking up here right now how many times before you can wash or have to wash according to this is done by uh some uh university that had their bacterial department go through it according to them they say towels once that's it that you need to wash it after once so shannon you were right on that one jeans here we go with this one because we talked about this a long time i mean i i'll go sometimes weeks without washing my jeans which is good they say two to three times and you should wash your jeans no no no i think you ruin them i

02:49:07 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 2:

think they're done after that the only time i would wash my jeans after like one or two wears is if i go to like a restaurant for example and i smell like that restaurant yeah then i throw them

02:49:16 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 4:

in pajamas uh-oh shannon they're saying that you should not wear and re-wear your pajamas at all because they say at night is when you let out the most bacteria especially if especially if Oh, jeez. Uh-oh, I spilled something on my computer.

02:49:32 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Get a blower. Get a blower.

02:49:34 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. Oh, no. Oh, no. Hold on.

02:49:38 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 3:

You're the reason why when we move studios, we can't have food.

02:49:42 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 4:

And you know what?

02:49:42 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 3:

We can't have food in the studio? Nope. No drinks either. All right. It's dramatic. It really isn't that bad. No coffee. Uh-uh. It's just a little bit. I'm not kidding you.

02:49:50 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez. I'm dabbing it. I'm not even going to be able to function. And the boss is coming in here in a second here to play a contest with us. um they're saying as far as pajamas are concerned the reason

02:50:00 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 1:

The reason why you want to make sure that you don't wear and then re-wear is because you shouldn't be wearing underwear.

02:50:07 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 5:

That isn't why I don't wear underwear with mine.

02:50:09 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 1:

You should not sleep with underwear on.

02:50:10 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 3:

Air it out. You got to air it out.

02:50:13 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 1:

And Megan?

02:50:14 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not.

02:50:15 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 1:

You do wear underwear?

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I wear underwear.

02:50:18 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 5:

When you sleep, you really are not supposed to. You wear cotton underwear.

02:50:21 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 3:

I really don't care.

02:50:22 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 5:

No, I know. I'm just saying.

02:50:24 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 1:

Some people actually have bedtime underwear.

02:50:27 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Are you ready for this? I sleep in an underwire bra. Oh, my God.

02:50:31 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 1:

That sounds uncomfortable.

02:50:33 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, try sleeping with these boobs without support. They pull you over. You'll be laying on the side of the bed.

02:50:38 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 1:

They look like 36 Ds to me.

02:50:41 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Megan, that's a picture of you just rolling onto the floor. Y'all see the slinky? That's why my boobs are like no underwire.

02:50:50 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 1:

Melanie, what's going on?

02:50:52 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you?

02:50:54 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 1:

We're good, Melanie. We're talking about how often do you wear before washing?

02:50:59 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, I left the man about a year ago, and he wore the same socks every day. I literally had to, like, confiscate the socks when he took them off at night so that he wouldn't re-wear them. If I didn't, like, tell him to change his socks, I don't think he'd ever change them.

02:51:19 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 5:

Now, that, to me, will get stinky because for sure your feet get sweaty no matter what. Oh, nasty.

02:51:24 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, his feet were nasty to begin with, and that's just one of the many things. He liked to pee in the sink, too. What? What?

02:51:32 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Guys.

02:51:33 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 4:

Why? Why not the toilet? Dude, I have no idea. I caught him once, and then we moved a couple times, and I'm like, dude, stop peeing in the sink. It smells like ass. That smells weird.

02:51:46 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

Actually, if his ass smells like that.

02:51:49 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 4:

Dude, he wouldn't clean up after himself. He's an ex. That's why he's an ex.

02:51:54 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

02:51:54 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 4:

Wait, let me guess. Was he a mama's boy? no he just lied about a lot he lied to his friends about his age he lied to everybody about i mean he had multiple facebook accounts pretending that these were his friends oh my god the stuff that i have is that i i still have like all in my cloud it's it's crazy where do you meet a guy

02:52:17 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 1:

that never changes his socks and pees in the sink oh jesus christ i met him on facebook dating

02:52:24 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

02:52:25 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, there you go. There's an ad for Facebook dating. Try it today. What's up, Morgan?

02:52:30 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 5:

Hey, yeah. So for pajamas, wearing the shirt a couple days in a row is fine. But if you don't wear underwear so bad and you don't change your pants, that is so crusty. Like, you have to change the pants.

02:52:42 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, that just depends. No, it's crusty. It depends. That's booty juices. That's crusty.

02:52:49 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 1:

I honestly I think that you should air those things out Megan you should air out Top and bottom

02:52:57 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay well first of all you have no idea To walk around with toddlers on your chest So once you do then I'll start taking your opinions And sleeping in broads He has an idea

02:53:06 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 1:

So you can pick one of these four. It's going to be Shannon, Megan, special celebrity guest today, Slim, and then our boss, the program director.

02:54:54 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 5:

02:54:55 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 1:

02:55:11 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 1:

It's not, and here's, we may have to go into Sean's strife and Ryan Seacrest and whoever's filling in for Mike's show. Who's filling in for Mike Milk on SNX this week, doing middays?

02:55:23 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 3:

Is it Schmitty? I think Schmitty.

02:55:26 - 02:55:33 | Speaker 1:

Schmitty is? Love her. We'll forewarn her that she's got enough time to go run to Timmy's and go get herself a coffee.

02:55:35 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he's here.

02:55:35 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he is? Oh, come in. Come in, Tony. All right, here we go. Welcome the program director. And look at this. Get a chance to see Slim here.

02:55:47 - 02:55:48 | Unknown:

Here we go.

02:55:49 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning's Throwback Throwdown.

02:55:52 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 3:

I just saw him walk up.

02:55:53 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 1:

It is time now for the throwback throwdown number two. Part number two. Oh, he's on the phone. He's talking to Brad Harden right now. They're flipping a format or something. I don't know. Doing something like that. Here we go. Time now for the throwback throwdown here on the Motto in the Morning Show. Your choices for the contestants, Shannon, Megan, Slim, or Tony. our boss. Jonathan, who are you choosing?

02:56:27 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm going with Shannon, my girl.

02:56:29 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 1:

You got Shannon. All right, Jonathan. Next pick in the draft goes to Jessica. Jessica. Slim. Slim. Did you hear his first performance at this?

02:56:42 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 2:

No, but I heard his voice on the radio, and I knew it was him. I'm like, is that Slim?

02:56:47 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 1:

He sounds good, doesn't he?

02:56:49 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 2:

He sounds exactly the same as he did. Yeah.

02:56:51 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 1:

Spencer, you have a choice of Megan or our boss, Tony.

02:57:04 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I definitely want the boss. Good man, Spencer. Let's go.

02:57:10 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 3:

The advantage that you have here is so unfair. But did people forget I got two points this morning. I almost won.

02:57:18 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 1:

She did.

02:57:19 - 02:57:23 | Speaker 2:

After listening to that disaster this morning, I have full confidence here.

02:57:23 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for still listening to us after that disaster, too, if you're still with us from this morning. Billy, are you there?

02:57:32 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm here. I'm going with Megan.

02:57:34 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you have to. That's the thing. By the way, we just got ratings back in Toledo. We were number one with a bullet there, man. It was unbelievable. It was crazy. Thank God for Toledo and the listeners that listen to us at 92.5 KISS FM. Otherwise, Megan would literally have nobody picking her for this contest.

02:57:55 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 3:

That is so true, and it hurts my feelings. You know what? Toledo's the best.

02:58:00 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. We're getting right to the contest because I got to start a weekend. I need it bad. Here we go. The first song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback Throwdown, round number two. Title and artist. And I threw in some songs in here that might be a little odd to hear because I wanted to just see how much Tony pays attention, okay? First song in the Throwback Throwdown. I was listening to myself back at me.

02:58:29 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 2:

That's some butterflies here. Kind of interesting. Is. Tony. Tony. This is ridiculous. That is Pitbull. Three seconds. And Neo, time of my life.

02:58:43 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 3:

Shannon.

02:58:43 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 2:

Shannon.

02:58:45 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Pitbull.

02:58:46 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds.

02:58:47 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Time of your life? Slam. Slam. Pitbull and Neo, time of your life.

02:58:54 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, no. But I got just enough to get off in this club. Had me a boy in time before my time is over. Hey, let's get it now. Ooh, I want the time of my life. Oh, no.

02:59:11 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 1:

It's all you, Megan.

02:59:13 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 2:

Got one word wrong. Make these guys pay. You did. I was too slow.

02:59:22 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 3:

Megan.

02:59:23 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 1:

Pipple, Neo, time of my life. Buzzer. No, that's right. It's Pipple, Neo, time of our lives. Yeah. This is not going to be any better. Nobody gets that. Such a good song, though. Good time. Before my time is all right, let's get it now.

03:00:00 - 03:00:27 | Speaker 4:

Tony just got a phone call from Media Base. They just said, wow, Mojo in the Morning played more music this morning than ever in the history of Mojo in the Morning. They're wondering if we're changing the format of the show right now. All right, next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throw Back, Throw Down, Somebody Get on the Board with...

03:00:47 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 5:

03:02:22 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 1:

I never would have got that right if you didn't say that, by the way.

03:04:11 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 4:

No. All right. Should I get really obscure with the song or get something more obvious? Because Tony gets the obvious ones, too. Even the obscure ones. Should I shut his mic off? Should we make Tony? How about this? Yeah, okay, go ahead. How about when we used to have it where the dads played the kids in basketball, the dads could not get rebounds. That was a thing. Because you were already tall enough to get the rebounds. So maybe I turned Tony's mic off or something like that, and he has to run to another mic to go and actually do the thing.

03:04:42 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 1:

There we go. I'm down. All right. Don't let him say his name for at least like five or ten seconds. Give us a chance. At least.

Jonathan, you're just having fun just listening and laughing, aren't you? I am. I'm enjoying the show. I'm going to play one for Shannon here. Are you ready? I don't like when you do this. He's going to put pressure on me. If I were you, Shannon, I'd scream your name out now because if you scream your name out now, Actually, no, you've got to hear at least some of the songs. You'll know this song. The score right now, Tony's got three. Slim's got two. The Lady's nothing. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown is... That is... He's blushing. Too much time.

03:11:22 - 03:11:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, oh, oh. Or is it just a hit error? J. Cole or Shannon. Kinnon. J. Cole, work out. Correct. Yeah, the comeback is Kevin in here. Wow. My name is not J. Cole.

03:11:37 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable. Here we go. I knew it's such a disappointment. Wow, if Shannon comes back and gets this next one right, am I right in saying this, KP, that Shannon could actually win it on this next one?

03:11:52 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, Tony's already had three. He's got to get to five. So, Shanna, you could win on this third one here.

03:11:58 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 2:

Man, oh, man.

03:11:59 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 1:

03:12:01 - 03:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Slim can win on this next one here. Oh, sorry.

03:12:10 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Megan. Come on, man.

03:12:12 - 03:12:32 | Speaker 2:

Jessica's at the doctor, and the doctor's like, excuse me, ma'am, can you get off the phone? All right. They're all looking at me. They are? Are you in the waiting room, or are you actually there? Yeah, I'm in the waiting room. Okay, all right. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown. Who wants the prize?

03:12:32 - 03:12:35 | Speaker 1:

03:12:55 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 1:

What happened to the five-second rule? Five-second rule.

03:13:01 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 2:

I think Megan knew that one, too. Wait a second. The five-second rule.

03:13:05 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, he can't chime in.

03:13:07 - 03:13:29 | Speaker 2:

We never put that in. We have no chance. You have to go to five. You know what's amazing? You know what's amazing? I thought you completely changed the leaving here. I thought you don't complain anymore. All I do is complain. What do you mean? I thought that you went down to Costa Rica and found, like, some kind of, like, some water to go bathe in or something like that.

03:13:29 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 1:

I did, actually. Very high-quality water.

03:13:31 - 03:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Same one I drink, actually, fluoride-free. Don't get me started. Here we go.

03:13:36 - 03:13:38 | Speaker 1:

You drink the same water you bathe in?

03:13:38 - 03:13:47 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. No. By the way, all our listeners are predicting that Slim is going to be dating KP by the end of their sushi gig tomorrow night.

03:13:47 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 1:

She's already nodding her head.

03:13:49 - 03:13:58 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I'm nodding my head. She's shaking her head. No, it's not going to happen. All right, here's the deal, guys. This next one could be a good one, because anybody can win it except for Megan, unfortunately.

03:13:58 - 03:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Not Megan.

03:14:00 - 03:14:05 | Speaker 2:

All right, so everybody has a chance to win, but you, Megan, unless you want to come back here.

03:14:05 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm just happy to be here, guys.

03:14:07 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 2:

We're happy to have you, Megan. By the way, at what point does Kiss cut your feet off and not let us have you anymore?

03:14:16 - 03:14:17 | Speaker 1:

1 o'clock, at 1 o'clock. Is that it?

03:14:17 - 03:14:20 | Speaker 2:

1 o'clock, all of a sudden, I'll be listening to the Scott Sands Show.

03:14:20 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

03:14:21 - 03:14:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go. Next song in the Mojo of the Morning throwback throwdown. Somebody's got to win it. With. Shannon.

03:14:31 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 1:

Carly Rae Jepsen.

03:14:34 - 03:14:35 | Speaker 2:

03:14:35 - 03:14:48 | Speaker 1:

Wait. Call Me Navy. No, she got it. She got it. She got it. She got it. She got it. She's a winner. Shannon wins. Twice in one day. Wow.

03:14:49 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 2:

Two wins. Yeah. Unbelievable.

03:14:54 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Smell my butt. Smell my butt.

03:14:56 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to you, Jonathan. You're a winner.

03:15:00 - 03:15:01 | Speaker 5:

Slim, we suck.

03:15:01 - 03:15:52 | Speaker 7:

I mean, half my points are rare points, so thank you. What a win. Great job there. Jonathan, you're walking away with the prize. Jessica, good luck with your appointment. Spencer, Tony let you down. Sorry, Spencer. Just like, you know, it always happens. Every program director has ever let me down over the years. He just let you down. That's right. All right. It's okay. I feel like we still want this. Billy, you poor bastard. I hope you have unlimited minutes on your phone. I do. Can I get a happy birthday to Creedence May? Absolutely. You know what? It's a great... Today's a big day. Do you know what celebrities were born on this day? No, not celebrities, but I heard it's Tony's birthday. It is. It's Tony's birthday. It's Creedence's birthday. And then also...

03:15:52 - 03:15:53 | Speaker 1:

It's Adele's birthday.

03:15:54 - 03:16:04 | Speaker 7:

It's also Luke's birthday, my son Luke's birthday. So those are all the celebrities that are born. Yeah, so Credence, happy birthday. Happy Cinco de Mayo to you. There we go.

03:16:05 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Thank you.

03:16:07 - 03:16:13 | Speaker 7:

03:16:48 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 8:

No, I mean, I just go to the gym. I watch what I eat, and I also watch the content that I ingest myself that keeps me young. I feel good. Love it.
