00:01:47 - 00:01:49 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning

00:01:49 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hat It's showtime this is mojo in the morning it's an irrational affair that shannon has had for a long time and it almost happened to her uh it did it did well and thank god nothing bad right

00:02:07 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 3:

i i feel like we all have these fears that have been like ingrained in our brains since we were kids and this was one of them for me and i don't know if i saw it on a tv show or where i saw this but I vividly remember this, seeing somebody riding down an escalator at the mall and getting their shoelace stuck in the end of the escalator. And then like they, I don't know, they had, they couldn't get it off and they had to have their foot amputated. Okay. So this is just one of those core memories that I saw on TV. And so to this day, I jump over that little part at the end of the escalator. Do you know what I'm talking about? Where it like rolls in. I do the hop. I know I look like a huge weirdo at the mall or the airport or whatever. When I do it, I do it every single time. And I think about that, that TV show every single time still to this day. So at the airport over the weekend, my little almost seven year old Smith, he constantly has his dang shoelaces untied. And so I'm always reminding him Smith, tie your shoes, Smith, tie your shoes, smith tire shoes i mean he doesn't listen so i was unaware that one of his shoes was untied and i'm kind of up ahead of him and all of a sudden you know those walking uh the moving walkways at the airport he we were on one of those we had all gotten off he was behind me i hear him start screaming bloody murder and crying i look back his little shoe he was stuck at the end of the moving walkway oh my god you guys the sheer panic that went through my body i was about to burst into tears then i start screaming and run over wes runs over a bunch of strangers run over and it had gotten the shoelace caught in it so tightly that we couldn't even get his little shoe off because that's of course the first thing that you want to do right take the shoe so myself and someone else are yanking to get the shoelace out and we finally got it i mean it ate that dang shoelace oh my god but and somebody had come over as well to stop the moving walk or whatever but can you believe that that it was my irrational fear unlocked it happened thank god it he was fine you know nothing happened to his foot but that's terrifying i've thought about that since i was a little kid and it happened to my kid of the elevator eating the

00:04:35 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

escalator or escalator eating yes yeah yeah the uh your laces your foot whatever yeah it's so stupid until it actually happened you need to get him those uh i see the commercials all the time those what is the shoe company that makes the the slip-on shoes that crocs mike tyson does commercials for i think uh you know the old people shoes sketchers yes the sketchers slip-ons i had

00:04:59 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 3:

just bought him these shoes, too. He's so proud to have these shoes.

00:05:01 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 4:

He loves his Nikes, doesn't he?

00:05:04 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 3:

He loves his Nikes. I have a fear, too. Mine came from watching Final Destination, too.

00:05:10 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:05:12 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

There are two things. They're on the freeway, and it's that log scene. Other than that, though, right before the log

00:05:20 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

scene. Explain the log scene for people who haven't

00:05:22 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 3:

seen the movie. If you're driving down the freeway and you see an 18-wheeler, one of those long trucks that are chopping wood and they have like these long wooden logs that are literally like the size of trees on in the scene of the movie i guess he hits his break or something and the chain that's supposed to restrain these logs and keep them in place snaps and the log literally flies off the truck goes straight through the driver's window and impales the person so there's a fear there but then there's also a fear that i think is more i guess readily available to take place i'm a bottle water drinker and there's also a scene where the bottle of water falls from wherever it is and gets stuck behind the woman's brake so when she goes suppress the brake she can't oh the bottle of water is there and bottles of water have fallen like they've fallen before under my seat and i'm just like oh my i freak out every single time like this could be it

00:06:15 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 4:

i'm gonna die like my destination too yeah and the same as the the the logs whenever you drive by those car haulers that are bringing cars to dealerships you know what i'm talking about you always think that that car is going to like come right off of the thing and they're always wiggly

00:06:29 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

yes yeah they're not on their good casey you there yes i'm here what's your irrational fear okay so shannon i wanted to tell you i know what you're talking about that's from rescue 911 years ago um i've seen that same thing and my fear is rational with um escalators too but my fear is you know when you have a dream and you're like stuck on a bridge or the bridge is going up and your car is stuck on it yes well oh my god you guys i i have that fear and it's so weird because that bridge just collapsed you know yeah and now um this past weekend we were at cedar point and it was opening day my daughter wanted to ride the rougarou and like it was one of the only rides that was open so we go we get right on and for some reason i'm waiting in line i'm like you guys like i'm panicking and i don't panic we get on the damn thing we're almost completely to the top of that first hill and it just stops like it just quit working oh the fear of that roller coaster stopping no are we gonna fall back like are we is it just gonna start and like our things are gonna unbuckle like what is going on are we all gonna die my kids were tripping i'm a mama triplet and my kids were triplet tripping my husband was laughing at us i'm like dude this is not cool it was one of my biggest fears yeah well after about 10 minutes thinking we're all gonna die the ride just shoots forward and like plunges us into the ride and i was like oh my god thank god we made it

00:08:00 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

safe but it was so scary oh that is very scary i know you hear the story it's like they have to have the the police and fire department come in and rescue you um we're talking about shannon's son's shoelace getting trapped in the moving walkway escalator at the airport. Brooke, what happened?

00:08:22 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 1:

So I was traveling alone with my three children. I had a six-month-old, a two-month-old and a five-month-old. And we were going on the people mover, not the escalator, but the

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 4:

people mover. You mean, yeah, that little train thing at the airport?

00:08:36 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, the escalator that's just flat.

00:08:39 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes. You know? Yeah. Okay, yeah, that's what Shannon's son was on, too. Yes, yeah. The same thing.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

The moving walkway.

00:08:44 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:08:45 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

And my son was pooped, so he popped down on his butt to ride it, and we're getting near the end, and I'm carrying the two other babies, and I'm like, get up, get up, get up. And he rode it out, and it caught the end of his shorts and sucked him in there. And I'm the same way. I tossed my baby girls down, and I'm yanking my son out of that thing. it scraped down the back of his leg he's screaming bloody murder but we got him out and it was exhausting and scary and the babies the girls were crying and it was a hot mess did it

00:09:20 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

rip his like pants off or did it what did it do yes well i had to pull him out of his pants really so the kids were so so were his pants still stuck inside of that that little escalator thing yeah Wow.

00:09:34 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

His little Superman thunders, I'm sure.

00:09:37 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 4:

And then everybody's looking at you like, you're that mom.

00:09:40 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was that mom.

00:09:42 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

But what's crazy is, Kevin mentioned the bottle under the brake pedal. Yeah. Just about three months later, one of my daughter's bottles rolled under my brake pedal, and I was approaching a light, and I couldn't get it stopped. And I rear-ended one of my husband's friends. Oh.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how did that feel?

00:10:03 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

Super embarrassing.

00:10:04 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 4:

I bet, yeah. DeVita, what's happening?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how are you guys?

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's going on?

00:10:12 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I had a similar story to what Shannon went through. I was shopping at Fairlane Mall, and my shoelace got stuck in the escalator, and I screamed bloody murder in the escalator. and lined up. The fire department had to get me out of the escalator because it had such a death grip on my foot. It was twisting my foot around. Yes. What? The front of my shoe. Yeah. So the fire department had to get me out. And I was shopping with my dad and my sister at the time. And my dad was so embarrassed. He did not go in that mall for years. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh.

00:10:48 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing. Like, you think the first thing you should do is take off your shoe, but you can't because it has pulled the lace in so tightly that you can't get your shoe off.

00:10:56 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 6:

And your foot is twisted so it's very uncomfortable but when you guys are talking about the shoes, it's Skechers. They have the flip-in shoes.

00:11:05 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right. Mike Tyson says, I use them all the time. They hired him just to have him say Skechers.

00:11:13 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 2:

He's not wearing Skechers.

00:11:15 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 7:

He's not wearing Skechers. I want to hear him say Rice Krispie

00:11:19 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever have a fear of a car wash? Sydney, what happened to you in the car wash?

00:11:29 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so this was Monday after I got out of a nine-hour workday. I live in Islany, so I went to an automatic car wash with my three kids. And as we're leaving, I'm, you know, going back into drive. and um somehow my car instead of going back i accidentally put it into park and their car wash sucked me back and as i'm trying to like go back into neutral as it's gearing down into um going back down it gets stuck in reverse oh no 2021 jeep compass so i'm stuck in reverse my shifter is frozen it's not functioning so i'm stuck in the car wash for about an hour and there's like a line of dudes helping me trying to rescue me out of the car wash and then i'm like my shifter was still stuck in reverse so i literally like had to let my car like die and they had to go to the shop because i couldn't i could never turn my car off and get it back into park because something wonky happened with my shifter and it just stopped working oh my god that's scary i had to like yeah i had to like watch a youtube video in order to like figure out how to release the shit there and that only got it to go to neutral or drive it never went back

00:12:49 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 4:

to park i bet you that didn't do great for your cars getting cleaned oh my gosh what wait hold on hold hold on one sec uh somebody which one do i grab here tina tina's hair where did it get stuck

00:13:02 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 7:

katina so there was like this um space uh trampoline thing like park in the mall yeah and we were out shopping for my graduation gift and i grew up in a religion that i was not allowed to cut my hair so my hair was almost down like past my bottom and um i went on this space like it made you do like upside down and side to side and you were supposed to feel like you were in space well My hair got caught in the mechanism, and it got caught so tight. I was screaming. They finally got the machine to stop, but it was so tight, they had to cut my hair to let me down. And at the time, I was freaking out. I thought I was going to be scalped before my graduation.

00:13:49 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Jeez.

00:13:51 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 7:

It was the scariest thing ever.

00:13:54 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 4:

Wow. That's awful. Your hair gets stuck in the thing.

00:13:58 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember the Cabbage Patch dolls that used to eat little girls' hair?

00:14:01 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 4:

Is that what it was?

00:14:02 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there was a huge recall one Christmas.

00:14:04 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:14:05 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 2:

It's like the number one Christmas toy sold that year for little girls.

00:14:08 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:14:08 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

00:14:09 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 4:

And last but not least, we were talking about getting stuck on those escalators. Jeff, what got stuck on an escalator?

00:14:16 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Well, good morning. Good morning. I was at Elder Beerman's in Sandusky Mall, and I had five older brothers, so I was just riding up and down the escalator. and an older lady fell, and I was on the bottom, you know, and she fell, and when she fell on me, she pinned me down on it, and obviously got to the end of the escalator, and this was a stair escalator, so she fell down, hit me. She landed on top of me, and, you know, I was nine. She was the older lady, and she got stuck. I mean, we got wedged at the bottom, I mean, I had that whole escalator, those stripes, burn into my face.

00:14:57 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 2:

So you were pinned face down at the bottom of that thing.

00:15:02 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because I was going down it, and she was behind me going down the escalator. And, you know, it was from level two to level one, and she fell on top of me, and it felt so hard. Oh, my God.

00:15:12 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

00:15:13 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:15:13 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 7:

It's like face-off right there.

00:15:16 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 6:

And it was. It was one side. And it took a while to go away, but, I mean, I was dying. It was cool. I thought I was quite Rambo. I don't know. You know what I mean? Yeah.

00:15:26 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 7:

Wait, what was cool? The cool part that the lady was laying on you, or what was it?

00:15:31 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, no, I was more worried about, oh, look at me. I got war wounds, and I had five older brothers.

00:15:38 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's amazing. Wow.

00:15:41 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 6:

Well, my mom, she came screaming, you know, trying to get all five of my other brothers, and I'm the youngest one with some old lady laying on top.

00:15:48 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 5:

That's unbelievable. All right, thank you for the call. Tell me about how we cheated on you five times already and is doing it again. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 7.40 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:08 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 3:

It is time for Back in the Day. Three clues. You call us up, tell us what year did this happen, and you get a prize. That simple. This is the year Rihanna broke her silence on what truly happened with her and Chris Brown that night.

00:16:20 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't take that he kept lying to me, and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it. because obviously his back was up against the wall. The truth is right here in the text message.

00:16:34 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 3:

A lot of movies dropped this year, but the funniest one starred Jonah Hill. It was called Funny People.

00:16:40 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 1:

When my grandfather died, there was one candle next to his bed, and the candle started flickering. We all thought it was him going to heaven, you know.

00:16:48 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 4:

You don't pass through fire to get to heaven. I think he went to hell. And Taylor Swift had the big song with Love Story.

00:16:56 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 5:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:17:02 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548.

00:17:08 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 5:

We're going to take you back in the day. It's Mojo in the Morning, back in the day. Tell us when this stuff happened.

00:17:16 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Rihanna broke her silence on what truly happened with her and Chris Brown that night.

00:17:20 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't take that he kept lying to me, and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it. Because obviously, his back was up against the wall. The truth is right here in the text message.

00:17:34 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no hiding that. Jonah Hill starred in the movie Funny People.

00:17:39 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 1:

When my grandfather died, there was one candle next to his bed, and the candle started flickering. We all thought it was him going to heaven, you know.

00:17:47 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 4:

You don't pass through fire to get to heaven. I think he went to hell.

00:17:53 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 3:

And Taylor Swift had the big hit with love story. Amanda, good morning. Amanda, you there? Good morning. Amanda, can you hear me? Amanda, can you hear me? That's the only line I know from that movie. Amanda, can you hear me?

00:18:11 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Thunder back my way. Let me see if I can talk to her.

00:18:13 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 3:

Let's see. All right, well, we might have to just get somebody else. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. If you know what year that happened, give us a call. Let us know. We'll check back in with Amanda in a minute. She's back. She's here? She's so back. Amanda, you there?

00:18:30 - 00:18:31 | Unknown:

Nope.

00:18:31 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 3:

You lied to me, Zach.

00:18:33 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 2:

I just talked to her.

00:18:34 - 00:18:35 | Unknown:

Oh, hold on.

00:18:35 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 3:

Uh-oh, wait a second. We're going to change our settings. We got to unplug the board here. Oh, I hear something. Is Amanda there?

00:18:45 - 00:18:45 | Unknown:

It's me.

00:18:45 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Amanda. You made it. All right, let's complete it. What year did all that stuff happen?

00:18:53 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 2:

dirty on the 30. Okay. This is my voice. So Kev is gonna do the dirties today. I am gonna do the dirties. I am standing in for Shannon. I'm here. Shannon is here. Her voice isn't but Shannon is here. Let's get to the dirty. Back in the day we started with the Rihanna clip and Rihanna showed out yesterday at the Met Gala bringing some of the biggest news that we've heard all year. Rihanna Rihanna is expecting another baby. Rihanna is going to be a mom of three. ASAP Rocky was excited as he was one of the co-chair at the Met Gala yesterday. He was on the red carpet shining, showing all his teeth. But Rihanna, at the end of the night, finally made her appearance. Yesterday, she debuted her growing baby bunk at the Carlisle Hotel in New York City before she arrived on the red carpet for the gala. While braving the rain under black umbrellas, she emerged wearing a gray two-piece skirt set, matching knee-high stockings, gray pumps. I mean, baby, what's doing it? Speaking of the Met Gala, in case you were wondering what the theme was this year, because the themes every year are something crazy, something out of a book. Everyone wanted to know what this year's theme was. It was, excuse me, black dandyism. And if you have no idea what that is or what that represents, here's a great explanation.

00:21:21 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 3:

The theme is superfine tailoring of black style. It's a tribute to 300 years of black style through the lens of dandyism. Now, a dandy is someone who takes pride in their personal style. Think sharp tailoring and bold flair. For black dandies, though, style became a form of self-expression and quiet rebellion. It started in the 1700s when free black men wore European tailoring to assert freedom and challenge racial hierarchies. As Bogue put it, the black dandy of the Harlem Renaissance used dress to assert dignity in a world that denied it. Suits pushed that even further. They were loud, proud, and political. Today, Black Dandyism is gender fluid. You see florals, pearls, capes, and clean tailoring, of course. You see that legacy in co-chairs A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, and Coleman Domingo. Also in icons like Andre 3000, Dapper Dan, and Janelle Monae. But nobody embodied this more than pioneering Vogue editor, the late, great Andre Leon Talley, Talley, a fashion titan, and, of course, a Matt Gala staple. So the theme is an ode to the impact that black people have had on fashion, an impact that for so long has gone unacknowledged.

00:22:30 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man, some of the looks last night were incredible. Tiana Taylor. Let me see who else. Janelle Monae, Andre 3000, Lauryn Hill, some amazing looks. If you didn't see any of them, check out the Mojo on the Moore Instagram page. You put a bunch of looks on our story. Go check them out there. Moving on. The Detroit Pistons lost in the first round last week, and we lost yet again. Only this time we were truly robbed. J.B. Bickerstaff, the head coach, was up for coach of the year. He did not win. He was the runner-up. Kenny Atkinson of the Cleveland Cavaliers was named the NBA coach of the year after his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, led the Eastern Conference with the number one seed. They got 64 wins. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We should have won. jennifer aniston was home yes this is kind of pretty scary jennifer aniston was home when a man drove his vehicle through the gates of her bel-air home crazy after the crash aniston security team ran over to the car got the man out of the vehicle held him at gunpoint until the cops arrived these are the type of security guards you need the man who was in his 70s was taken into custody through LAPD, said it may have been an accident. I don't know how you do that, but who knows? By the way, on this day in 2004, the final episode of Jen's iconic TV show Friends aired with more than 50 million people watching. I wonder if this guy was one of them. Let's hear it. Just send it. Oh, that's it. That's the dirty. More dirty later. You did so good, Kev. Thank you. that's it we're done done with the 6 30 30 more mojo in the morning coming up next

00:24:10 - 00:24:18 | Speaker 1:

celebrity dirt directly from the source it's mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30

00:24:18 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 3:

now back to the only thing michigan and ohio can agree on mojo in the morning i have a story i

00:24:27 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 1:

wanted to bring up from something that i heard the afternoon show doing uh the joe show uh joe ashley and jad and terry who are on in the afternoons on channel 955 uh they brought up something very interesting about ashley that i thought was really funny and i thought it was a bs story until i verified it with uh our boss tony travato who uh verified that it was absolutely true ashley nicks who you remember from our show the lovely ashley nicks ashley Phoenix last weekend asked our boss, Tony Travato, to be an alibi for her, a fake alibi, might I say, so that she didn't get in trouble with her girlfriend. So she needed Tony to lie for her, which I thought was very funny that she would reach out to Tony, who I think is one of the most honest people ever. You know, I don't I don't consider Tony a not an honest guy. and uh you know i think he's very very honest but hold on one second i'm going to see if i can get uh ashley on the phone hold on actually i gotta i gotta call ashley i'm gonna call her on the on the hotline number hold on stand by stand by for radio broadcasting because i want to have tony on too The lovely Ashley Nix I'm calling you Ashley from the station number Pick up that number because I want to conference you with Tony I need to get glasses because the numbers are getting tougher to read these days or i gotta make my uh my text print bigger but i refuse to do it because it just makes me makes me feel like i'll be old if i do it i'm keeping it very small so ashley hi so ashley used our boss tony as her alibi so that she wouldn't get in trouble with her girlfriend

00:26:33 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 2:

what was the story ashley first of all this isn't my girlfriend let's actually still single so Detroit listeners slide in my DMs at Ashley Nicks. What I was saying was this is this chick that I'm talking to in Atlanta, and I was just trying to make her mad because we got into it. So I lied. I was like, yeah, I'm in Atlanta right now. Maybe we can grab lunch. And she was like, oh, that sounds good, so we can talk about our issues. And I didn't respond to her the entire day. So I finally texted her like 9 p.m. I'm like, hey, you know what? I'm a little tired. I'm going to go to bed. We can talk tomorrow. She texted me. She's like, what hotel are you staying at? I'm like, oh, my God, I'm not even there. So I call her, I was like, hey, it was just a 24-hour trip, I'm back home. She's like, you really came to my city and didn't see me? That's like me flying to Tampa not seeing you. She's like, prove it, show me your itinerary. I'm like, oh, my God, I don't have that. So I'm Googling stuff, trying to figure out if I can make a fake itinerary. Then I'm like, you know what, I'm going to call Tony. So I called Tony, I was like, hey, I'm going to text you and say...

00:27:28 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, let me pick him up real quick. Let me pick him up. Tony's out here. Tony?

00:27:33 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo, you need me to live for you? Yes.

00:27:37 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait. I want to know what happened.

00:27:38 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

What did you text Tony, Ashley?

00:27:40 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

So, no, I called Tony. This is 10 o'clock at night. I was like, Tony, he's probably like, what is Ashley calling me for? But I called him. I was like, hey, I need you to lie for me. He was like, what? I was like, I'm going to text you and say, hey, do you have my details for the Atlanta flight tonight? And I need you to respond and say, let me check my email so I can screenshot it to this girl. So she thinks that you bought the flight and I just deleted my email. So smart. All right. So Tony sends me a text message basically saying, yeah, let me check my email. I screenshot it to the chick, and she's like, all right, all right. This is why I don't lie, because I'm not good at it. Dude, I've been freaking out for the last three days, but she forgot about it.

00:28:18 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Tony.

00:28:18 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, that's funny.

00:28:20 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 1:

I thought you were a good Christian guy. I did not know that you're a liar, Tony.

00:28:24 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 3:

Here's the best thing of all of this. She just explained it. I still don't know what I lied about. i think it's interesting by the way she did call this is how exciting our life was my wife and i are sitting on the couch watching like some crime tv or something and the phone rings and i'm like oh god it's ashley it's it was 10 o'clock at night last

00:28:49 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 1:

saturday and usually ashley doesn't call that late at night so are you thinking the worst right

00:28:54 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm like, oh, God, something happened.

00:28:57 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. By the way, how great of a boss is Tony? He picks up at 10 o'clock at night and then does it. What was Brooke thinking when you were doing this?

00:29:06 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 3:

He was just rolling her eyes.

00:29:11 - 00:29:20 | Speaker 1:

But I love that Ashley was doing this as a way to make this girl jealous. Who, by the way, Ashley, this is the girl you showed me the picture of, right?

00:29:21 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I'm sorry.

00:29:22 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, is she beautiful? This girl is like, oh, jeez. I want to see her. Yeah. Wait a second. So, Ashley, is she now thinking that you are, like, you know, superstar jetter across the country flying in and flying out?

00:29:37 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 2:

She's like, so your boss just flew you to Atlanta for a meeting and you left? I was like, yeah, man, I just had to handle some business.

00:29:46 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Tony, can you do me a favor? Will you send me a text saying that I'm getting a raise?

00:29:53 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Ashley, everything was good until she accessed the podcast. Ashley, no, Ashley, explain that, because you have not talked about this at all on the Joe show, right?

00:30:06 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 1:

I have not talked about this in Tampa for the Joe show, because she will listen, and I don't need that in my life. I'll talk about it in, like, two months when we can laugh about it, because, right, yeah, we were arguing at the time. I'm like, you know what? I did lie. I wanted to make you jealous. So, yeah, she called me out. She wanted the itinerary, and that's how bad I am of a liar. I never even thought of that.

00:30:24 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I love, by the way, that—

00:30:26 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 1:

But I doubled down. I was like, so you don't trust me? Like, I thought you'd trust me.

00:30:30 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 3:

Ashley!

00:30:31 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 1:

Threw it right back in her face, didn't you? Yep.

00:30:34 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 3:

So anybody that just decided that they were going to slide into Ashley's DMs know she's a liar.

00:30:40 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 1:

No, never. Come on. Girls are liars. Yeah, right. I was looking for that song.

00:30:45 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 3:

What is that? Hold on a second. That girl's a liar. That's going to be your new walk-up song. It's boy. Everybody's a liar. Oh, that's right. All right. All right, Ashley.

00:30:53 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't have high hopes for Ashley's relationship, though, either. Dude, my love life is awful right now, okay? I'm just, you know.

00:30:59 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Is it really? What are you looking for, Ashley?

00:31:02 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's bad.

00:31:03 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 3:

What are we looking for?

00:31:05 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 1:

Great personality. You know, someone who I can bring home to mom, a girl with a nice butt. Not going to lie, I'm a big butt girl. Yeah, man, I'm looking for a sugar mama, too. So anybody want to take care of me, I'm good.

00:31:18 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

All right. Okay. All of the above, we're going to find you. All right. We'll talk to you later, Ashley. Tony, thank you.

00:31:23 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 1:

I came to the hotel hookup. I'm kind of mad I didn't.

00:31:25 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 3:

I know. You guys, seriously.

00:31:26 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 1:

I was in the hotel with somebody.

00:31:28 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez.

00:31:29 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 1:

Me too. Wait. I'm leaving home with something.

00:31:32 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait. You do not. Don't say that after you leave a hotel. I'm leaving home with something. We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around.

00:37:46 - 00:37:49 | Speaker 2:

00:42:28 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 3:

Where are you? Is that what they said?

00:42:30 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 1:

Where are you? I said, where am I? I'm here in the waiting room. I'm looking right at you. Yeah, I'm right here. And then they put me in another room and said, oh, he'll be right with you. 00:44:33 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 3:

She's a teacher.

00:44:35 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm loving that you're advocating for yourself.

00:44:38 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 3:

Pat. I have to.

00:44:39 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 1:

Nobody else does. And then he told me to get a second opinion. I said, you are my second opinion.

00:44:46 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 3:

Pat, you're never going to be able to go back to this guy ever again.

00:44:49 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not. I'm not. I said, just give me my medicine. I told him, just give me my medicine, and I'm going to leave.

00:44:56 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow. You know what the interesting thing is? You probably forgot what

00:45:00 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 4:

the hell you were going to him for because it was so long that you were sitting back there

00:45:03 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 3:

no i know what i've gone for that medicine that's killing me but the thing is is i said to him why

00:45:09 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 4:

do i have to take it i said it's killing me well quick question for you pat i yeah do they have any like tv in the waiting room or in the room that you're you know like i always like when you go into a waiting room and they have you know uh i don't know oh yeah kelly kelly and her uh general

00:45:28 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

hospital yeah no no no i just read the screen that screen they have in doctor's offices press here if you want to learn about lupus press here if you want to learn about you know stop smoking press here if you want to learn about this wow so you sat there the entire time with

00:45:44 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 4:

no entertainment at all that's amazing well i had my phone wow so it's funny what was megan wasn't it you that said that you had a doctor that forgot about you too didn't you have a

00:45:55 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. I waited inside of the exam room for nearly two hours one day.

00:46:00 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 4:

Two hours.

00:46:01 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 3:

I was, yeah, I was an hour in there and not in the parking lot in the waiting room. Yeah. Where are you? Right here.

00:46:09 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Where I'm right here, you idiot. Janice, what's going on? How are you? It's my sister, Pat. Ann Pat's on the phone. How are you? Good.

00:46:19 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 2:

Good, good. Listen, I had a story. You were talking about Ann Pat.

00:46:24 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:46:24 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 2:

And I had a story about I worked for an orthopedic office for 30 years. I was an MA. And we put a patient in a room, and we had a back hallway, and the patient was sitting in the room, and they forgot them. All the doctors left. They shut off all the lights. We were going around looking to check the rooms, you know, fill the rooms, that kind of thing, and we found a patient sitting in one of the back rooms.

00:46:47 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Wait a second. You almost left for the evening.

00:46:51 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, the doctors were all gone. We had a huge group of doctors, yeah. And we left in front of the patients in the back room.

00:47:00 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 4:

Janice, if the doctor's office can charge you for a missed appointment, can you charge them for a late appointment?

00:47:10 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

Charge the doctor?

00:47:11 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yeah.

00:47:12 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 2:

You should be able to get a percentage off.

00:47:15 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Like if this was a restaurant and you were waiting, if Pat was waiting for two hours for her meal, I mean, you would think that the restaurant would at least buy her dessert, you know?

00:47:25 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

You would think so.

00:47:27 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 4:

You would think so.

00:47:28 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 2:

They came back. We called the doc. He wasn't too far away.

00:47:32 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 4:

He actually left. Can you imagine?

00:47:34 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 2:

They actually left. There was nobody. There was probably two of us left in the office, and we were just checking the rooms and, you know, filling the rooms up. Yeah. We're ready for the next day. Holy cow.

00:47:46 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't know who, by the way, I would want to be in a conversation with more. uh janice or am pat just sitting there oh my god i should give each other their numbers so you can sit there and talk about this what's up stephanie how you doing

00:48:02 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 1:

hello hey so my sister-in-law has really bad anxiety and she was um at the pediatrician with her little one and she didn't know that the appointment was over like she wasn't sure am i supposed to leave like am i supposed to make another appointment are they coming back in the room she had sat there until the doctor office closed she walked out all the lights were off nobody was there oh my gosh they left her in the room and she already had anxiety

00:48:32 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 4:

oh yeah poor thing oh my gosh that's awful so it happens more frequently than we think this goes on well well pat i uh i hope that you are uh i hope that you're better here's the moral

00:48:49 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 3:

of the story. What's that? When you go into a doctor's office to the exam room and they always close the door, tell them that you can't have the door closed.

00:48:59 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 4:

That's a great idea. I don't like it when they

00:49:01 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 2:

close it anyway.

00:49:03 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 3:

When they came in, when they came into, and I said, you know, he'll be right here, blah, blah, blah, that kind of thing. And she went to school. I said, don't you dare shut that door.

00:49:15 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 5:

The way you talk to that doctor, and Pat, he may need to have his own appointment. You ripped him a new ass.

00:49:24 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I never liked him from the beginning, but I only went there because it's an infusion center and it's close to home, but I never liked him from the beginning.

00:49:33 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, you need to move to town here and be with us at Dr. Warner's office. We'll all go see Dr.

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Warner. Yeah, I love that. Who doesn't love Dr. Warner? He's the best.

00:49:40 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 4:

He does make you wait a little bit if you're a patient, but you know what? At least he's nice

00:49:45 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 3:

about it. Yeah, I don't go to those

00:49:47 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 4:

kind of doctors. All right. Well, we love you. Take care, Pat. All right. All right. Love you guys. Bye. Bye. All right. We'll see you. She'll talk forever if we continue on with her. There she is.

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Every other week, you're looking for money in the couch cushions, like a raccoon going through trash. Guess what? That change ain't saving you. Pay his bills is back. With your shot at $1,000 cash, 13 times a day at 10 after the hour, because the couch cushions are always nasty anyway.

00:50:16 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I want to ask a guy's perspective with your story that you got here, Kevin. Kevin went out to go have some drinks and hang out, and he wouldn't take the drink because?

00:50:31 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 4:

They put it in a martini glass, and I'm not on Sex and the City, so I didn't want it in that glass.

00:50:39 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you are too ashamed to drink out of a martini glass?

00:50:46 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 4:

Give me a regular cup. You know what I mean? Give me a plastic cup. What is it about a cup that talks about?

00:50:52 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

Then I got to, like, have my pinky up or something like that. You feel me?

00:50:55 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 4:

You're too cool for a cup? I don't keep the olives. Keep all of that. What was it that you were drinking, though? So I wanted it. It was a nice day. It was hot outside. I looked at the drink menu, and I saw they had, like, this mango slush tequila type of vibe. And I was like, okay, that fits the energy. That fits the mode. And then I asked the waitress. I started with margarita. I'm like, is this going to come in, like, one of those dainty little glasses? She's like, yeah. I'm like, nah. I'm like, can I have it in a plastic cup or something like that? And she's like, are you sure? I'm like, yeah. My frame of reference is sex in the city. And when I see those little glasses, I think it's just little ladies in there. Yeah.

00:51:32 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 3:

That's not what I need in my life. So first off, you're drinking. He's drinking, Anthony, a mango drink. Okay.

00:51:39 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 1:

Coming from the guy. You have no say in this conversation. I can because.

00:51:44 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

No, no. This is not about the drink. This is about the cup. Right. And I. You were about to make fun of the drink. No, but I'm saying he's drinking a mango drink. It's got to be a scotch. It's got to be brandy. No, no, no.

00:51:57 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 1:

Mojo would drink the mango drink out of the cup. I think it's kind of crazy that you're letting a cup dictate your life. Oh, Steve, I get the cup thing.

00:52:02 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 3:

I have no problem with that.

00:52:04 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 1:

And here's why I get the cup thing. Talk to me. My favorite Mexican restaurant of all time, Aldana's and Troy, we have all been there. We went there after Naughty Moms. They give you the margaritas and those huevonkis.

00:52:15 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 4:

Like the fishbowls.

00:52:16 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes. And so I always ask my favorite waitress, Marissa. I said, can you just bring in a normal cup, please?

00:52:21 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, how dare you?

00:52:23 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Because that big, humongous glass, especially if I'm with my children, I don't want people going, look at that, mom. The cup is the experience. If I'm with girlfriends, yes. I don't care.

00:52:34 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 3:

Anthony, we've had this drink and we've had this thing. First off, they come out and this cup is big enough for a kid's fish bowl. Like the kid could have put goldfish in this damn thing. It's so big. But go back to the mango man over here with his drink.

00:52:50 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 4:

That's so fine.

00:52:51 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Not wanting to drink because the drink was served in a martini glass.

00:53:01 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. I feel like Sammy Davis right now. Let me get the mango, the tequila. Yeah. Yeah, put it in a different glass, please.

00:53:11 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 1:

What are the off-limit glasses?

00:53:13 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 4:

Just that one.

00:53:14 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 1:

No, there is one that is truly off-limits. The ones that you see people walking around the Las Vegas Strip with, and they're like as tall as me. I saw that at the Tigers game. No, I don't care who you are. That's the whole fun of it all. Yes, it is. You are douchey. No, you're not.

00:53:32 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 4:

That's a lot of alcohol. How else am I going to get famous?

00:53:35 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 3:

My favorite was going to a Tigers game and seeing guys, like, carrying those drinks around and those big glasses. And all I keep thinking now is, that's Mike.

00:53:45 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm a sucker for a gimmick, first off. If you give me a gimmicky anything, I'll take it. But those giant baseball bats or whatever those tubes are, cups, those are the greatest thing in the world. I want to drink out of a fishbowl. It's the whole experience. I can get a drink anywhere.

00:53:59 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Right. It's supposed to be fun.

00:54:01 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes. What about this? Will you drink a drink if that mango drink came out in a regular, like, I don't know, plastic white solo cup, but it had whipped cream all over the top of it.

00:54:13 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 1:

That would get you excited, wouldn't it? I would get me so excited.

00:54:17 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, I got hard nipples. That was so good. By the way, have you ever, have you ever, see, I love anything like.

00:54:26 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 1:

Stop holding your nipples, please. I'm sorry.

00:54:28 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm tweaking them right now. Have you ever had it where they put, like, things in it, too, like they'll put umbrellas in it or they'll put, like, little dancing ladies inside the thing?

00:54:38 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 1:

Or the little, now they do the little plastic monkeys that are hanging from the side of the drink. I keep seeing that everywhere.

00:54:43 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Off the side, yeah.

00:54:44 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 4:

You just take those out immediately, though.

00:54:46 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 3:

No, you don't. I don't want that drink, and it hit me in, like, what are we doing here? I'm here for the alcohol. Kev, you wear pants with bedazzles on it. I see it all the time. What do you got on right now? I've never had bedazzled pants. No, you have those. What are those Pistons pants that you have? It's got, like, a... Vinnie Johnson on your crotch or something like that. What is this guy talking about?

00:55:03 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 2:

You wore his crotch yesterday with stuffed animals all over there. Those are vibes.

00:55:07 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm not drinking that, though.

00:55:08 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, listen.

00:55:09 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if you have not seen the crocks, please go to the Mojo in the Morning Instagram.

00:55:13 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 3:

You can see it right now. What's up, Laura? How you doing?

00:55:16 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 7:

I'm good. How are you?

00:55:18 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Good. So, Kev, say hi to Kev.

00:55:21 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Kev.

00:55:22 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, Laura. Don't go drinking with him. He won't drink the drink if it's got too weird of a glass.

00:55:30 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so here's a thing, a couple of things. One, tequila has no business being in a martini glass. I'm sorry, I'm just going to put that out there right now. So I can understand that, too. I mean, so what? I mean, I can't think it makes you look a little manly if you're not afraid to drink out of that glass, right? I mean, get it, man. If you want to drink something, drink it.

00:55:51 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 3:

I think, honestly, if you do have that glass and you're a manly, manly guy, I don't think anybody even pays attention to it. As a matter of fact, the glass looks like a child's glass in your hand, probably.

00:56:02 - 00:56:02 | Unknown:

I'm straight.

00:56:03 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 7:

You know, it does. But, I mean, in all honesty, tequila does not belong. Our margarita does not belong in a martini glass anyway. Right. So just tell them to put it in a proper glass.

00:56:13 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 4:

See, that's exactly what I did. Shout out to Ebony. Appreciate you for making that happen.

00:56:18 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 3:

Anita, what's happening?

00:56:21 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 6:

Welcome to the show, Kev. Appreciate it, Anita. Just have one question. Where do you get this amazing sounding name?

00:56:28 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 7:

I don't care about the glass. Where do I get this?

00:56:34 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 4:

I was at Condado's. I think that's how you pronounce it. Oh, Condado's. Taco. Yeah, exactly. Where is that? I went to the one in Royal Oak. Shout out to Ebony. Appreciate you looking me up.

00:56:44 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. That was all I needed.

00:56:46 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 3:

Enjoy. Sarah, what's happening? Mojo in the morning show.

00:56:51 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 6:

Hi, welcome to the show, Kev.

00:56:52 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate it, Sarah.

00:56:54 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Sarah? What do you think?

00:56:56 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 6:

um my boyfriend makes me order the martinis because he thinks they sound good but he refuses to drink out of one of those cups when we go out see so what does he do then how does he sneak your drink from you he will just drink half of my drink what are you guys embarrassed like some

00:57:13 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 2:

like somebody's gonna come up to you and challenge your man card because you can't drink out of a cup

00:57:17 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 4:

see i don't think that my thought process has anything to do with anyone other than myself Again, my frame of reference is sex in the city. And when I think about those glasses, I just remember my grandma would have sex in the city on. I just look at those ladies holding those glasses. And I'm not one of those ladies holding the glass. Yeah, you don't like women. No, I like women to drink what they drink. And I want to drink what I want to drink. Oh, so you believe that men and women should be separated? That's what you believe? No, I think you should do what you want to do. And I should do what I want to do.

00:57:44 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I do have to say that a glass does make a drink as far as taste is concerned. because I do love old fashions, and there's nothing worse than when somebody tries to serve you an old-fashioned in a non-rock glass.

00:57:56 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

Right. Could you imagine getting a Moscow Mule and not the Moscow Mule Cup?

00:57:59 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. I've had that before, like where you're out at a festival or something, and, you know, they don't want to give you that, you know, what is it, like a, what is that thing made of, tin or something like that? I don't know what it's made of.

00:58:09 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to be honest. I've taken drinks to-go, and I really don't care the to-go cup. I just want what's in it.

00:58:15 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's funny because if you're drinking anything that's daiquiri-y, which is pretty much what you were drinking, you were drinking some mango daiquiri-y type thing, you deserve to drink the daiquiri-y thing from a daiquiri-y kind of counter. Why are you saying it like that?

00:58:30 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 1:

Also, can we play the pina colada song now? Because you know it's my favorite, and this is such a missed opportunity.

00:58:36 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 3:

The worst, though, is that when we do play the pina colada song, I get Tony that gets, you know.

00:58:42 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, fine, then don't play it.

00:58:43 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 3:

You want me? No, it's okay. Do you know the pina colada song? Kevin.

00:58:46 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 1:

If you like pina colada.

00:58:48 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. That's that song I love.

00:58:51 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 5:

If you like pina colada.

00:58:53 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 3:

You gotta drink it out of a plastic cup.

00:58:55 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 2:

You can't drink it out of a plane. Right.

00:58:57 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 5:

If you're not into yoga.

00:59:01 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 2:

If you have half a brain.

00:59:03 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Janet.

00:59:04 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 2:

If you like making love at midnight.

00:59:07 - 00:59:07 | Unknown:

There you go.

00:59:08 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 2:

In the dunes of the cave. I'm the love that you've looked for.

00:59:14 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Dustin?

00:59:17 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 5:

Not much. How you doing?

00:59:18 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 3:

Good. How you doing? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. You're on the air.

00:59:21 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 5:

All right. I'm doing good this morning. Don't make fun of them baseball bats. Those are fun to drink out of a baseball game.

00:59:28 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 3:

That's right.

00:59:30 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 2:

Kev is an acquired taste. Don't like him? Acquire some taste. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:39 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon wants to know if she did something illegal what's going on Shannon? Okay so obviously we

00:59:46 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

always talk about if you're out and having a cocktail or cocktails with friends you want to make sure that you are getting home safely and you're not drinking and driving and we're huge proponents of Uber and Lyft and does it.

01:00:00 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 4:

native drivers and all that stuff so i am i went out with some girlfriends the other night and we decided to go get um a margarita well wait a second you cannot say margarita without say it like this guy i got a damn margarita who wants a margarita i should have told you to have the so we rode our bikes to this little restaurant that was in my neighborhood got a margarita but you know how sometimes they are strong like the bartender it was like half a bottle of tequila was in each of these margaritas well we got on our bikes to ride home and my friend Brooke was making fun of the way that I write I was riding my bike and she's like Shan you are swerving like the margarita really hit you and I said well no that's not the margarita that's just how I normally ride my bike my kids make fun of me all the time I ride my bike like a five-year-old but I thought about this, and I think we've talked about this before, we think we're doing the safe thing by riding our bike from this restaurant back to my house where we all left from, but can't you get an OWI on a bike when you're drinking? Even though you think you're doing the safer thing, because obviously I would never get in my car, but I think you can get stopped.

01:01:15 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 5:

What does an OWI stand for?

01:01:17 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 4:

Operating while intoxicated. Is that what it is? I think it's different car versus, like, anything else, right? To the Googles. Call up Kev's cop classmate. Shay?

01:01:29 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, see what Officer Shay says.

01:01:30 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 4:

Now, mind you, and truly, I really did only have one margarita and my waitress can vouch for that. Wait a second.

01:01:35 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 5:

Okay, Justin Timberlake. Did Marcy?

01:01:36 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, for real.

01:01:38 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 5:

Marcy, did you just raise your hand? Did you get a DUI on a bicycle or something? No.

01:01:43 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 1:

No, I raised my hand for an expert.

01:01:45 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 5:

01:02:20 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 4:

We love Mark Bernstein, yeah.

01:02:22 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 5:

And we got, you know, Michigan Auto Law. We got all these guys.

01:02:26 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 4:

She's not a sponsor for any reason to call Jumana. We love Jumana. She should be advertising.

01:02:31 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, we're going to get her to advertise one way or another. What's going on, Mark? How you doing?

01:02:37 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 2:

Pretty good. How are you guys?

01:02:38 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 5:

Good. What did you, did you get a DUI on something other than a motorized vehicle?

01:02:43 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

No, but my neighbor guy lives up the street from us in the city. I mean, you know, in Walled Lake here. And he had a John Deere riding mower, and he was drunk. But, see, this happened late at night, and he got neighbor's complaint because it's loud, you know. It's midnight, and he's cutting his lawn. But they couldn't do nothing. So when he went to the front, but the cops were kind of waiting there. And what he did is when he was, he went to the street to do a U-turn to get, you know, like when you're cutting your lawn and you kind of go in the street to get back up, you know. into your front lawn and as soon as he got in the street they lit him up and he got he went to jail

01:03:24 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 5:

probation you're kidding me that's that seems like a setup on a lawnmower that seems where that seems like the uh the walled leg cops are getting a little petty yeah they um and uh he

01:03:37 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 2:

had to go to uh the novi court 52-1 wow that's crazy uh what's kp you look like you uh did you

01:03:46 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, honestly, I should have gotten one on my bike for the 4th of July. I literally fell off my bike, and I feel like I was a hazard.

01:03:56 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 5:

Where were you driving?

01:03:57 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 3:

I was in Jacksonville for the 4th, and there's one street that we all, apparently the whole town drives on, and everybody was drunk. Riding their bikes. Riding their bikes. So maybe they just... Oh, my God. And I really injured my elbow. It hurt so bad. You fell off? Yeah. Yeah, I legit fell off my bike.

01:04:16 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. You've got to be careful. I know. KP, were you sure you're drunk?

01:04:20 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

I was just dehydrated.

01:04:23 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 5:

Are you like Shannon?

01:04:25 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Literally, my seven-year-old rides his bike way better than I do. I'm actually quite coordinated.

01:04:29 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 5:

We're putting training wheels on both of your guys' bikes. Thank you. Hi, Kim. How are you doing?

01:04:34 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

01:04:35 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on?

01:04:36 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 1:

I had a cousin who was riding his bike drunk, and he hit a lady on his bike and then stayed around to make sure she was okay. And the cops gave him an OWI that he never went and had, like, dealt with. Ended up with a warrant for his arrest. And he's, like, 35 now, and he just got his license back. Holy crap.

01:04:58 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 5:

That's unbelievable.

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 6:

But he was actually being responsible and staying with her, but it ended up biting him in the butt, huh?

01:05:05 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

Sure did. Sure did. And he was young. I mean, he was probably fresh out of, you know, bar age. So, I mean, 12 years of his life almost on hold because he was just scared to deal with it.

01:05:18 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Thanks for the call. Sean, what's going on?

01:05:21 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yes, my brother received a ticket for driving, well, riding his bike while intoxicated. From DPD.

01:05:32 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, boy. The DPD pulling you over.

01:05:35 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 3:

Yep, yep. And you have to go to court for it.

01:05:37 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 6:

That's amazing. I don't even know the DPD writes traffic tickets.

01:05:41 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they do. I've received a few.

01:05:43 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 6:

I always thought that I could just drive through red lights anytime I wanted to in Detroit. They just kind of let you go.

01:05:51 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 3:

Don't do that.

01:05:54 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 6:

See you, Sean. What's up, Initial T, Voices, guys? What's going on?

01:06:00 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so a group of friends and I, we were riding our bikes at Fountain Walk. You know how there's always cops there, especially by Imagine.

01:06:08 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 6:

Where exactly is this again?

01:06:11 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 1:

Fountain Walk.

01:06:12 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 6:

By Fountain Walk Mall, Novi. Okay, yeah.

01:06:15 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we were at Beat Ups taking shots, stuff like that. And we were riding our bikes because we're pretty close. We even, like, worked out at Powerhouse. Besides the story, we drank a little too much. Cops saw us kind of, like, I guess, wobbling out. We get on our bikes, and we start riding, and they siren us. And then they're like, sir, you guys need to pull over. And I was like, F you, you can't catch us. And then they caught us. That probably didn't.

01:06:48 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 6:

F you, you can't catch us. Not a great idea.

01:06:51 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 1:

On a bike. Yeah, well. Yeah, so that didn't work well for us.

01:07:02 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 4:

We got tickets to go see The Weeknd, first show of two. This show sold out. We got a pair of tickets for you, though. Actually, for the 95th caller, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665. Pair of tickets to see The Weeknd on May 24th at 4 Field. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon's throat is at home somewhere. She did not bring it to work. She's feeling a little bit under the weather. Say hi, Shannon. Yeah, see? See? See? It's just, it's not there. But I'm here. But she is, I will say this, Shannon is a trooper. A lesser person wouldn't have come to work today, but you are here. You've written all the dirties. I'm going to do my best to make you proud. You do your version, Kat. Here we go, 7.30 dirty. So yesterday was a big day. It was the first day of the Diddy case, and we got some developments already. Jury selection is officially underway for this eight-week criminal trial. Now, Diddy is facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, after his 2024 arrest. Now, potential jurors were asked about a star-studded list of names like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Destiny Childs, Michelle Williams. The judge even joked that it felt like reading an appendix from Lord of the Rings. Now, one big name will take the stand. Singer Cassie, Diddy's ex, is expected to testify under her real name. Her 2023 lawsuit sparked the avalanche of allegations against him. Now, Diddy is staying behind bars during the trial and skipped his last chance to plead guilty. He is not pleading guilty. Things kicked off. He admitted to the judge, I'm a little nervous. That is probably the understatement of the century. Justin Bieber was photographed taking a hit from a bong. Ah, Bieber. Bieber posted several Instagram pics over the weekend, showing him hanging out in a recording studio in a mountainous region. Was he in Denver? Was he in Canada? Who knows? Rumor has it, though, he's somewhere in Iceland. In one pic, Bieber is seen kicking back in a chair, taking a hit off the bong. What looks like a bong, we normally know. Another photo captures Bieber standing next to Benjamin, who is puffing on a cigarette as the other guy sits on the couch. Now, who's Benjamin, Shannon? Benjamin Button? No, he's another singer. Okay, okay. Like a producer. Gotcha. Benji and Bieber hitting a bong. I like it. Yesterday, President Donald Trump announced the location of the 2027 NFL Draft. Here's what he had to say.

01:09:39 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 5:

The 2027 NFL Draft, that's a big thing, will be held right here in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C., on the National Mall. And you get a little glimpse of it.

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

This year was held in Green Bay.

01:10:00 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 3:

Last year, as we know, the biggest turnout, I feel like, ever in the history of the draft was right here in Detroit, Michigan. But NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expects there to be more than one million fans to attend the draft over the three days. Next year's draft will be held in Pittsburgh for the very first time. That's all you're dirty. Good job, Kevin. Good job, Kevin. Dirty under 30. Yeah. Oh, thank you, guys. We still got 830 and 930. Hold your applause.

01:11:39 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 1:

Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning. Leah, you think your husband's cheating on you?

01:11:46 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 5:

I do.

01:11:47 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Who do you think he's cheating with?

01:11:50 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm not sure.

01:11:52 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 1:

um that's kind of why i called you guys he's like what little uh flirtatious with lots of women or or he's we were talking to our producer and she was telling us that um he's like an entrepreneur

01:12:07 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 5:

yeah a serial entrepreneur yeah a serial entrepreneur who's you know never been as successful as we want him to be and he's often using or creating these new businesses and social media accounts and business cards and I want to support him but it's you know eating up our savings and recently he got a new phone and that kind of cut off alarm bells in my head like why would he need a new phone it doesn't make any sense and like a long time ago like years ago he worked through this issue of him messaging women online and so I just

01:12:50 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 1:

Did you have access to his old phone and maybe that could be why he got a new phone?

01:12:58 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 5:

I do have access as his wife that makes sense. How about

01:13:02 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

his new phone? Do you have access to that?

01:13:06 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 4:

No. Oh gosh, I'd be so uneasy

01:13:09 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 1:

as well. When he's messaging people back in the past online he was just sitting there flirting back and forth with these women. Would he ever meet them face to face or is it purely him sending DMs?

01:13:23 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 5:

It was just messaging.

01:13:26 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 1:

And you think he's back to his old ways?

01:13:29 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 5:

Could be.

01:13:32 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 1:

Wow. You guys struggling in your marriage right now? This is always something that people will tell us that they're not, you know, having as much sex as they used to have.

01:13:47 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, lately we've been bickering a lot more about money mostly because of these businesses.

01:13:54 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to downplay the messages, but did it ever go beyond that? Did he ever meet up with any of these people?

01:14:01 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 5:

I mean, he swears no.

01:14:03 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 1:

Do you believe him?

01:14:04 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 5:

And I believe him. You do believe him? Yes, he's my husband. and I do believe him, but there's always that uneasiness.

01:14:12 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to call and see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Do us a favor, hang on the phone, but mute it, and then let us, you know, have Shannon do all the talking.

01:14:24 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:14:25 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're hoping that the roses go to Leah. It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:38 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

01:15:54 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 5:

Sure.

01:15:54 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay. Have you, have you purchased flowers in the last six months, John?

01:15:58 - 01:15:59 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:15:59 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:16:00 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 1:

Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

01:16:04 - 01:16:05 | Unknown:

Probably.

01:16:05 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:16:06 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, as a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to give you that one dozen long stemmed red roses. And so let me get some information from you and we'll get these out. Okay. We'll start with the first and a last name.

01:16:20 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 5:

Sorry. That's the whole survey?

01:16:22 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 1:

Yep. It was just two questions. I told you it was quick.

01:16:25 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 5:

Okay, cool.

01:16:27 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 1:

So a first and a last name of who you want these to go to.

01:16:36 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 4:

Can you just, can you send them to Leah?

01:16:40 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:16:44 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

Is that it?

01:16:45 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, we can also include a, we include a digital voice card, something kind of different in lieu of a paper card. So Leah will get a text saying she got a flower delivery, and then this digital voice memo will be a part of that. So we're going to go ahead and record that, okay?

01:16:59 - 01:17:00 | Unknown:

Cool.

01:17:00 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay, wait, let me count you down. Let me count you down. Three, two, one.

01:17:08 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 5:

To my one and only, I love you so much. Love, John.

01:17:14 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 1:

Awesome. And, John, real quick, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded and that's for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

01:17:22 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

yeah sure okay john i'm gonna jump on here real quick and just say a couple things um that's the way that i feel too yeah yeah i love you guys show i knew it i absolutely knew it

01:17:42 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 1:

john you why'd you make me go through that whole thing you could have just said it at the beginning

01:17:48 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what, is Leah on too? She's waiting to jump on and attack.

01:17:54 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't think she's wanting to attack. I think she just wanted to find out some information. Leah, say hi.

01:18:01 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 3:

Hey.

01:18:03 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 5:

You really wanted to drag me on the radio and try and get me to send flowers to somebody else?

01:18:11 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that she was trying to get you to do it. I think she was hoping that you wouldn't, but I don't know, Leah, if you want to bring up exactly one of the reasons why you wanted to do this.

01:18:27 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've just been curious about that new phone that you won't let me look at that you saved for business, and I just don't buy it.

01:18:37 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 5:

It is for business, and we can talk all about it at home later, but I still love you. Also, love the show, guys, so I should go back to work now.

01:18:51 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 2:

John, I think that we're going to let you go, but I think that one of the things that Leah felt uncomfortable with is that you've been kind of a little secretive with what's going on. Is there anything else going on that I know you're not going to tell us?

01:19:11 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 5:

No. I mean, no. There's nothing else I'm going to tell you guys. But I think you're great. We think you're great, too.

01:19:23 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 2:

And unfortunately, you know, we are going to send flowers to you, Leah. So we're going to send them to you, and we'll let you go. Okay. All right. There you go. All right.

01:19:35 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:19:39 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't think we get an answer off of that, Leah, because I think he knew right from the start, from the get-go. Yeah. But I want you to hang on because we are going to send those flowers off to you, but I want to talk more about this, okay?

01:19:56 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 3:

Sure.

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 4:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

01:20:01 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Call Mojo in the Morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

01:20:19 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 3:

I got a couple thoughts. First off, my gut right away when you started this was that he kind of knew what was going on. And I don't know exactly where he was, where he realized it. Was it right off the bat or was it to the point where, you know, you asked the questions about sending the flowers? Because part of me wonders, maybe he figured it out at that point, but he did answer yes, yes, on the flowers, sending flowers, and, you know, will you send flowers in the future?

01:20:56 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 7:

about that's where i get suspicious every time when they say yes to both questions i go i think they know what's up yeah because they never say yes to both questions but here here's the the

01:21:08 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 3:

thing though that made her suspicious of this is that he has cheated in the past he's got this new phone for this new business but he won't give her the phone well won't give her the access to the phone but gives her access to his other phone i don't know like you know they always say that

01:21:29 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 1:

like if you're suspicious of something happening on your partner's phone yeah to like pretend yours isn't working or something for a second be like hey can i see your phone mine's not working for a second and just get the reaction what's the reaction do they just hand it over do they tell you no do they get all weird and have to like do something before they hand it over to you

01:21:47 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm over my minutes That's what I always say I'm over It's not in my Not in my family plan Exactly

01:21:55 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes you're embarrassed By what website is pulled up And you're safari And you need to close out of it quickly

01:22:00 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 3:

Here's a couple of text messages here My favorite is 248 It says She said he was a serial entrepreneur And for a moment there I thought he was in the serial business That must have been somebody from, what is it, Battle Creek? Is that Kellogg's name? Couple of 586 says, I knew he knew it by just the tone of his voice. 419 says, he sounds like a total D-bag. Now, I feel bad even saying this because here we are after the fact, and he did send the flowers. Sounds like a total D-bag. Just listen to the way he was with his wife, acting as if almost he kind of controls her a little bit is that i don't know was there some controlling there in the conversation that he said he got her off the phone kind of quick um 419 says guarantee he's wiping that phone clean before he goes home today and sees leah

01:23:00 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 2:

to play devil's advocate now that i'm saying he did or didn't cheat we did just come at him with all this stuff like i would be a little on edge too if i just got attacked on the radio by

01:23:11 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 3:

my wife you know what i mean yeah i i get that part like i get it like it's different than second date update where if a person's gaslighting you you kind of agreed to come on the show like ahead of time like we talked to you already about the idea of hey we're gonna have you on you know with somebody this one he doesn't know so anything that he does say that might be a little bit suspicious might sound like he's gaslighting but it could be the natural thing to say like i you know you ever you ever see what your reaction is when you're surprised by somebody's comments that you didn't know or didn't see coming i think if we were all caught off guard it might sound a little sketchy at first sure and we would all sound like we were

01:23:54 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 5:

gaslighting what's up uh natalie hi guys good morning good morning what's happening first of all um the serial entrepreneur thing very personal to me i dated a guy like that once never a good thing ever they can't have a business and commit to it and you know whatever but my main point is is that my one and only that made my blood boil a little bit i feel like he definitely knew because and he was said it very snarkily which i didn't like either like the tone that said that was not did not make me feel warm and fuzzy inside yeah so you think you thought that

01:24:28 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

his card did not seem like a card of somebody that was well but he did know it was us so maybe that was the reason why it was the case but you're right though it did not he didn't seem warm and

01:24:38 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

fuzzy to her right exactly like you're being you're just being a you know what yeah oh yeah i'm sorry i know exactly what you mean um what's up armando hey i was thinking is there a possibility he could have looked up the website because Shannon does say rosebloom.com and then channel 955 pops up. I didn't know maybe that's how.

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for those that have never gone to rosesbloom.com, we've been doing it for so long. We do own the site, and it just goes right to our site, our page.

01:25:14 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 4:

But he did say, I've listened for a while.

01:25:17 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he listened to the War of the Roses. I will say this to you, that if we had any kind of a budget, we would actually make it a real website. But we unfortunately have no budget for that. That has always been something in all the years that we've done this and had rosesbloom.com. We barely have enough money to pay GoDaddy to be able to have the site. So it is kind of embarrassing. That might be something that we'll write down in the future that if we ever do get a little, I don't know, maybe we get an intern or something that actually has web abilities. Or a serial entrepreneur. Yeah. Does a little web designer. Yeah. Maybe we see if that's something that John's got going on in his life. We can have him help us out with. All right, War of the Roses. If you think somebody's cheating on you, text CHEATER to 95500.

01:26:11 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 3:

So I was in the gym parking lot Believe it or not I went to the gym to work out

01:27:41 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 4:

How did that go? I'm sore today

01:27:45 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm a little sore today I'm competing by the way in the next Olympics I just want you to know that Leg wrestling I am a world class leg wrestler 1, 2, 3 Ever do that where you lift your legs up And you have to do the three thing And then you have to leg wrestle I'll leg wrestle you after this topic

01:28:02 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

I won't do it No, yes, please. I think Zach should do it. Take me home. Such good social, please.

01:28:08 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm a gold medalist at that. So I witnessed something in the parking lot, which I thought was pretty crazy. I witnessed what I thought was somebody just getting their car towed, only to realize it was somebody getting their car repoed. And I was shocked to see this. And I was telling the story to a couple of our car dealership advertisers that I had saw this because I talked yesterday to a couple of the people from Gordon and I talked to the Steve over at Zod. And they were telling me that they're in Michigan. There's a record number of car repossessions happening where people, you know, aren't paying their car payments or can't pay their car payments and their cars are getting repossessed. so I wanted to bring this up as a topic on the air because I've always heard stories about the repo man but it was the first time that I've ever witnessed the repo man going in and taking the car yeah and it made me start thinking I wonder if we have any listeners that are listening to the show that have either a had their car repossessed and what did you come out to like an empty parking spot or an empty you know uh you know driveway or b who right now is afraid of the repo man and who is hiding from the repo man right now as we speak 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text 95500 and are there any repo man that are listening that's top five scariest jobs alive

01:29:39 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

To be a repo man? You think that those guys get shot at? Bro, could you imagine? I would think they're robbing me. Come on, man. Like, that is your job, is to, at whatever time in the day, to go to someone's, I guess primarily their house or wherever the car is located, because sometimes they have the little locator.

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 3:

jacks on there wait what yeah do they tracking devices yeah i had a girl staying at the crib

01:30:06 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 5:

this is years back i had a girl staying at the crib long story short it's the morning time she's supposed to leave she leaves out the apartment she leaves out my i'm on the first floor leaves out my apartment walks out the door i'm thinking she gone all of a sudden i get a call she's like can you buzz me back in come open the door i come open the door long story short they done repoed her car while she was at your while she was at my house bro somebody had to come get her wait you didn't even drive her home it was too early i had things that's what is uber for am i the a-hole what i have to take her home why i wasn't gonna take her home in the first place she came to you to deliver the goods and i deliver goods too

01:30:48 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 2:

all goods were delivered they don't have to alert you that they're taking your car

01:30:53 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 4:

No, they don't want to alert you. I'm saying after they've taken it, they don't say, like, your car is now in our possession.

01:31:01 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 5:

Got it. No, I know by text. They got a confirmation email with a tracking link. Right.

01:31:05 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 1:

You think they're doing that kind of courtesy? Hell no.

01:31:09 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 2:

Miranda, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about the repo man and all these cars getting repossessed and seeing that yesterday. What's up?

01:31:18 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

um so we went into well first my husband was having lots of problems with this car and they wouldn't come out and fix it so he stopped paying we went in to have our baby at the hospital and we came home and there was no car oh my gosh they never alerted us that they was coming they never messaged us to tell us they took it we just came home and it was gone now you say that

01:31:46 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 2:

You were having problems with the car, so you guys just stopped paying on the thing. Were you happy just to see the car gone, seeing that the car was a pain in the butt for you guys, or no?

01:31:56 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it was a pain in the butt, so we were glad it was gone, but at the same time, we still had to continue to pay off. Oh, geez. Okay, yeah.

01:32:04 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 2:

Baby seat, no seat. Thank God it wasn't the car you drove to the hospital.

01:32:07 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

Right. Oh, yeah, definitely.

01:32:11 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 2:

What's happening? Justin, how you doing?

01:32:14 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Not too bad.

01:32:15 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 2:

Justin, tell everybody when you got your car repossessed.

01:32:19 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, you know, I was going through some hard times and couldn't make the payments. So it was around Christmas time and I woke up Christmas Eve and we were supposed to go to a Christmas party and I walked out. My truck was gone. I had no idea, was ready to load up all the stuff. And, you know, I had to explain to my wife in the moment.

01:32:41 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so she didn't have any clue that you hadn't been paying on it.

01:32:44 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 4:

I had no idea.

01:32:46 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 2:

So question for you, and this is maybe not for you, but for the repo people. Do they take your personal belongings there?

01:32:52 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 5:

That's what I was going to ask. What if you had gifts in the car or something? You've got to go get them from the lot.

01:32:57 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really?

01:32:57 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 4:

So if they see you, I guess they might ask you if you have any personal items in there, but I think they just took the truck and it was gone.

01:33:05 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Crazy. Terrence, what's going on? I still want to talk to a repo person. If you're somebody that is a repo person, will you call us up? Because Kev brings up a really interesting point of do you guys, you know, get people like that attack you or go after you? What's up, Terrence?

01:33:21 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Terrence, how you doing? Yeah, I had my car repoed at a mall, taking my son to get some jeans and a movie. But I was just behind in payments. But, yeah, if you have personal items in your car and you call the repo man or the company, they would allow you to go to your car and get your personal items out of the facility.

01:33:39 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

But how do you know who to call? I mean, what do they do? Do they leave you something?

01:33:45 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

No, I called the police first, and the police pulled my license plate up, and they said, yeah, your car is repoed, because the repo, people call the police when your car is tagged.

01:33:54 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 2:

So you don't report it stolen. Oh, okay, yeah.

01:33:57 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 3:

I called them that first.

01:33:58 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 2:

How many payments are you behind? Because I always wonder, like, how many payments will it take?

01:34:04 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 3:

I was behind by two, three months. But then when you called the person, they were real, they wasn't forgiving. But this was, like, a couple years ago. I'm good now, but it was a couple of years ago, and it really affected me and my son because I was going to the movies. I was taking them shopping, and we'd come out to the mall, and my car was going. I'm like, dang, somebody stole my car. I had weaponry in there. I had all my stuff in there. Oh, wow.

01:34:26 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 2:

It was terrible.

01:34:26 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Two or three months, though, does it seem like that? That was registered, so they did allow me to go get the rest of my stuff so it wouldn't be confiscated.

01:34:33 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that doesn't seem like a very long time. I would think it would be like six months to a year or something like that.

01:34:38 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You're not playing.

01:34:40 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 2:

Kayla.

01:34:42 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

01:34:43 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 2:

Kayla is currently hiding from the repo, man. How are you hiding your car?

01:34:49 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm currently driving my sister's car right now, and I'm hiding from the repo. I'm just leaving it in her garage. Yeah.

01:34:57 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:34:57 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

They can't open your garage to get it.

01:34:59 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 1:

Wait, by the way, I sound like Von. What am I saying?

01:35:03 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

01:35:04 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 1:

I was like, wait a second, why did I say it like that? But that's interesting. I did not know that.

01:35:09 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Yeah, they normally come like during nighttime or early morning. So I normally just, you know, make sure it's hitting around that time so they can't find it.

01:35:19 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 1:

And I'm assuming with all these cars having GPS systems on them, that the GPS systems give away where your car is. they probably know it's in your sister's garage, wouldn't they?

01:35:32 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 3:

Right. They can't break in. Yeah.

01:35:34 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 1:

But they can't go in there.

01:35:35 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 3:

But make sure you cover up all the windows. Yeah, there you go. Why? Because if they see it inside, they can call the police and have the police come to say that you have to, like, open it up. So you got to cover up the windows. No face, no case.

01:35:45 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 7:

No card, no case.

01:35:48 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 1:

Don't you guys all want to know why Megan knows so much about it? I mean, I wasn't going to ask, bro, but we here now.

01:35:53 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 3:

I've never had a card repoed, thank God. Like, knock on wood. I used to love the show Repo. It was Repo Wars or Repo something. I used to watch the hell out of that show.

01:36:06 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:36:07 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, because it's scary. People get angry. People run and try to jump into the car because you can't tow it if there's a person in it. There are people that get sneaky. Operation Repo. Yeah. And there's a guy on TikTok who does it, and it's sneaky as hell, and I love it.

01:36:22 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. I'm learning more and more. I've got to start watching more TV.

01:36:26 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay, our techs are, like, going crazy right now about this.

01:36:30 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 1:

Listen to Maggie here. Maggie?

01:36:34 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

01:36:35 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 1:

Where were you when your car got repoed?

01:36:38 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 6:

We were at Disney World.

01:36:39 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

01:36:41 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, do you think they saw your social media and they're like, she's spending $10,000 a day to be at Disney World so she can afford to pay her car payments?

01:36:49 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 6:

No, I was going through a divorce and my cousin was court-ordered to pay the car payments, and he did not. Oh, wow. Do you think he did that on purpose so this would happen? Oh, no, he did it on purpose. He knew what we were. He never said a thing, but they did not give us back our stuff at all.

01:37:06 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That stinks. What a terrible situation.

01:37:09 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they sold the car at auction. Yep.

01:37:12 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Hold on. We've got Lydia's, like, shaking like crazy in the other room. Do you see her? She's, like, when she's got a good call, she shakes, like.

01:37:22 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 4:

Our lovely Lydia. She's the angel of the show. But every now and then, a chick's got to shake some breezy ass, right?

01:37:29 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm shaking some breezy ass.

01:37:31 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there you go.

01:37:32 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, thank you, Tony.

01:37:34 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 1:

C, initial C, are you there? Hey, what's up? You're being voice disguised. C, you've been hiding your car for how long right now from the repo, man?

01:37:47 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 5:

About 10 and a half months now.

01:37:49 - 01:37:49 | Unknown:

What?

01:37:50 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 1:

Whoa, what kind of car is it?

01:37:53 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 5:

TS Parenteau.

01:37:55 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and how are you hiding it, and where are you hiding it?

01:38:00 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 5:

Well, I've had it in, like, two different garages, and it's got a new paint job on it, and I took the badges off of it.

01:38:07 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, so you actually made it look different so that they can't even pass it out.

01:38:12 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 7:

Man, it has a disguise on it. That's unbelievable.

01:38:15 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 1:

Just like his voice, he's disguising his car. Okay, and so this has been for, gosh, a long time that you've been doing this. Huh?

01:38:26 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like 10 and a half months. Almost a year. Payments of like $1,000 a month.

01:38:31 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. What the hell are you doing paying $1,000 a month? That was a bad deal you got. Hold on one second. Stay right there. I'm going to leave you right there because I'm going to come back to you because I got Kevin, the repo man, on with us. Kevin, he's been hiding from you for a year. Did you hear that?

01:38:48 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. The problem is we'll either eventually find it or two, they'll just start. Levying a bank account, paychecks.

01:38:58 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 1:

But is that a genius move on his part to change the badges on the vehicle and paint job and all that stuff? Will you guys not even look at a car that you don't think is the right color car?

01:39:09 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 4:

I mean, the color can always be wrong, but it's definitely...

01:39:17 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

You cut out there for a second. It's definitely what?

01:39:20 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it definitely makes it harder for us.

01:39:23 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That is wildness, man. I'm just, I'm blown away. By the way, have you ever had anybody shoot at you that you were repossessing a car from?

01:39:32 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 4:

No, I've been doing this about 10 years now, and I haven't had a single gun shot at me. I've had a lot of them in my face, knives. Damn. Wow.

01:39:42 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 1:

Do you carry?

01:39:45 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 4:

No, a lot of the repossession insurances won't let us carry in our trucks.

01:39:50 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:39:50 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 4:

It's just a liability, you know?

01:39:52 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, I got a question for you. Are you like a bounty hunter? Like, do you get paid per repo or do you get like a base rate?

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 2:

I get paid per repo. So you got to get them.

01:40:04 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 3:

How many repos you average in a month? Like, what's the quota? About 100. 100?

01:40:09 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:40:11 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 4:

Kevin, this is crazy. I work mainly in the Toledo area, but most of northwestern Ohio and Monroe,

01:40:19 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 1:

Lenawee, Macomb County. Kevin, be honest. Where are the most repos?

01:40:27 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 4:

Where are they at? I mean, I'm also the agent manager for my company. We have usually 1,000 repos a month, and I'm usually in the top three of those agents. Oh, jeez.

01:40:41 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 1:

You better not leave behind any DNA because somebody's going to do some voodoo on you. Well. I would have died if you would have said Perrysburg.

01:40:49 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 2:

Hey, which is what? For those that are listening across the world, that's the nicest area in Ohio.

01:40:55 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, Ottawa Hills is, but Perrysburg thinks they're Ottawa Hills.

01:41:00 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, I've got to grab Roy, the repo man. Roy, the repo man.

01:41:05 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Roy? Roy, are you there? Yeah, hey, I'm not a repo man, but I'm a finance manager at a car dealership.

01:41:12 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm sorry. Boy, you just ruined it for me. Thanks.

01:41:16 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 5:

No, no, he's got a great story. I'll wait to hear it.

01:41:18 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 2:

Tell us the repo story.

01:41:20 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 5:

We were putting GPSs in the car, so we knew where the cars were. And this one customer wasn't making their payments, so we hired this repo company. Kind of a shady repo company, if there's not shady ones. Anyway, so they went out to pick up the car. 12 o'clock at night, he calls me and says, hey, I got your repo. I said, great. I said, bring it back to the lot. He goes, what do you want me to do with the kid in the back seat?

01:41:41 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You are lying.

01:41:46 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 5:

This is insane.

01:41:46 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Can you not see the kid?

01:41:49 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 5:

The lady went out to start her car, went back in the house. They pulled off. The car was running. They just jumped in the car and drove it off. Looked in the back seat, and there was a baby in a car seat.

01:41:59 - 01:41:59 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:41:59 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 5:

I said, take the car back. So they took the car back, dropped it off, got back in the truck, and pulled down the street. She came out of the house, got in her car, and drove off like she didn't even know anything happened.

01:42:09 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:42:11 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 5:

That is a crazy story.

01:42:13 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Why are you listening to any other radio show than this radio show today?

01:42:19 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 1:

this is the midwest number one morning show and that's kind of sad mojo in the morning

01:42:28 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning show so is this a buddy of yours that uh you got this idea from this topic idea from two dudes actually two guys yeah one cup that you say um that they like some things about the opposite sex but you think that the things that they really are attracted to are kind

01:43:02 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 3:

of weird they're interesting and immediately when you start to say that i think of megan's don't yuck anybody else's yum so i don't want to do that this is your thing more power to you so i went to uptown y'all know i like uptown they got a nice little salmon drink yeah i do i got a nice little salmon situation that i grabbed so i went in there and i wanted to get a to-go order but when i go in there first off the parking lot was slamming cars that place is always so crowded

01:43:28 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 2:

insane it was ridiculous they need to knock down some of the place to put more parking in there it's such a it's they have a huge parking lot already but it's still so busy all the time it's

01:43:38 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 3:

like a costco or something it's crazy so luckily i get a nice little spot up front so i park in i I go inside and I start to walk inside of the bar area because it's just me. I'm not going to sit down. I walk into the bar area and there's literally nowhere to sit. I'm walking all the way down to where the band plays and there's tables with people sitting at every single one of them. I'm making my way back and I see a guy and I'm my boy Chris. So I see Chris and I see another dude that I never met before. And I'm like, hey, bro, let me just sit here real quick. What's up, man? What's going on? Let me just sit here so I could order a drink and get my food to go. So I'm sitting down, drinking, meeting his friend. We start talking, whatever, like that. we're guys so i guess females come up in conversation not sure who brought it up not sure why it was brought up not even sure why we started talking about the interesting things that these two gentlemen find attractive about a woman but here we are chris says that he likes girls with long fingers wait that is so random i'm telling you i listen i'm sitting at the tape it could have been the jack daniels and pineapple that i had everybody trying because that was a He says he likes women with long fingers because he likes to get their nails done. And he likes the way their long fingers look with their nails. I'm sitting there, I'm like, are you serious, bro?

01:44:50 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't like that look.

01:44:50 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 3:

Listen, the other guy, I don't know his name, but the other guy says that he likes women with hairy legs.

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, my dream man.

01:45:00 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

I should have gave him your number. I'm like, what do you mean? Like, hairy legs. He's like, not too hairy, bro. Like, I don't like them werewolves. I just like the long, silky hair on they legs. He said, I like it when it looks silky and it glistened on the side. And I was like, ugh, y'all crazy. Wait, I can make that happen. And then Chris said he likes girls with black gums. Black gums? He said they're gums. When their gums are black. Like, he said he like a woman with dark gums. These are my things I was a little taken aback When I heard some of this stuff Can I ask a quick question

01:45:39 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

These guys White guys, black guys Because the black gums I do see women with black gums And there are black women with black gums

01:45:50 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that periodontal disease in everybody

01:45:53 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea I don't think so, I don't know

01:45:55 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 5:

I think that's inflamed red Go back to the hair

01:45:59 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 4:

on the legs yeah is it do and i don't even know the answer to this one and yet i have three sisters and a wife um aren't there women that only shave to a certain part and so some of this they do have or do they shave all the way do you shave all the way up when i shaved because i i have laser hair

01:46:16 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 5:

removal um best decision ever by the way but i would shave like up to the middle of my thigh if i wasn't gonna wear a bathing suit like if i was just wearing shorts that's what i would do

01:46:25 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 2:

So the one area I don't have laser hair removal is my legs, and it kills me. Yeah. I will shave for the outfit. So if I'm wearing a knee-high boot and a skirt, I'm only shaving my knees.

01:46:37 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 3:

I feel that. It's like me with lotion. If I ain't got my legs on, damn, I'm going to put that lotion on. Yeah.

01:46:42 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 4:

You don't get ashy or anything? Yeah, I get ashy, but you're not going to see it.

01:46:45 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:46:46 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right, so let's go through all these again. The nails thing I get, like I think with long fingers and beautifully manicured nails, I think that's hot.

01:46:55 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 3:

You like a woman with long fingers I like

01:46:58 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 4:

Listen I like women with small fingers I like women with fingers Let me just put it that way I like a woman to have her fingers No offense to you if you've lost them That could be kind of kinky too A little four finger disc Give me with the star tree But I

01:47:14 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you I think women

01:47:24 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 4:

like with long fingers and stuff like that and then have them beautifully manicured? I think that's hot. There's something hot to that.

01:47:31 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 5:

He specifically said fingers.

01:47:34 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 3:

Not nails. He did say he likes them with their nails done but to your point, why can't you just like a woman with her nails done? He specifically said, I like them with long

01:47:44 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 4:

fingers. I think women, there is a turn off to women's hands. I think if a woman has really short fingers that kind of turns me off a little bit i don't know like my like my wife's not a big woman like she's a she's a tiny person but her fingers are just like perfect for her body but i've seen some women with like little kid fingers and i'm like i don't know if i like those fingers trick-or-treat hands trick but yeah so that's one thing as far as the gums go and stuff i don't like too much gum in a smile oh my god like gummies like i don't like when i see too much gum in a smile i think oh my god you better go see dr nemeth and have him like figure out something

01:48:25 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 3:

they pull off yeah especially if you like we make people laugh yeah could never be with somebody with a messed up gum situation because yeah i could never make you smile that could be dude

01:48:37 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 2:

can i tell you the weird thing i love girls with horse teeth really you got some big ass teeth that don't match your face i kind of like it really yeah i kind of like it wow that is a little while

01:48:47 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so I did date a guy who had a gap in between his front teeth, and I thought that that was really cute. And I know a lot of people would not like that, but I thought it was so cute.

01:48:55 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

Was it a huge gap or like a little baby gap? Like, could you fit the quarter in the skinny way or the side to the side? The shop at baby gaps. No, the skinny way.

01:49:05 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 5:

That's on a side. There's some gaps out here now. That's missing teeth. That's the hillbilly. No, but he has like a gap.

01:49:14 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Art, what's going on?

01:49:16 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 1:

Yo, what's up? What's up?

01:49:18 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 4:

What's up? How are you?

01:49:20 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, that was weird.

01:49:22 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that was weird. What's going on, buddy?

01:49:24 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Not much. I heard you talking about some fingers. It is not a turnout for me. Look at a few girls' hands. Luckily, my wife has nice hands and fingers because some females and dudes have toes as fingers. Oh, toe fingers. Oh, toe fingers are wrong. Toe fingers are wrong.

01:49:39 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I'm fascinated by toe fingers.

01:49:42 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 1:

Really? Not in a good way. When they bite their nails off, stop.

01:49:47 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 4:

What is the most attractive thing on a woman? What attracted you to your wife?

01:49:56 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm not even going to lie, her smile and her eyes.

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 2:

She's pretty fly Right, right Big ol' booty though

01:50:05 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 4:

It's your booty, it ain't your beauty

01:50:12 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 3:

I like the idea That Kevin's going to pick up his salmon At Uptown And he just randomly runs across A couple of guys sitting at the bar That are talking about all this stuff And you become friends with them

01:50:24 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 4:

No, I knew Chris

01:50:26 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know him, okay I thought they were just guys No, no, no, I know there's some random dudes. Because you know how sometimes when you pick up a carryout order, you got to go up to the bar? I always hate that because I feel like I'm interrupting people's conversations by asking, you know, hey, can I get an order, please? You know, one of those type of things. Kevin, what is your thing? What's your turn on? My turn one? Yeah, what's your turn on when you see it on a woman like her? Something that we might even consider unusual.

01:50:54 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

Unusual? I ain't going to say unusual. I like surreal eyes. I like her mouth. I almost said another word.

01:51:00 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 3:

I like her breasts. What is something, though, that would be unusual? And it doesn't have to be just Sherelle. It could be any girl. Unusual?

01:51:08 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I like unusual stuff.

01:51:09 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 3:

No?

01:51:10 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 4:

I look at it. I mean, I look at the whole person. I look at the whole being. I don't know if I like. I mean, I'm not out here in love with horse teeth, Megan. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

01:51:17 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 1:

The topic was, what weird thing are you into? I decided to answer the prompt that you brought up.

01:51:24 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 4:

Well, I can tell you a weird thing I'm not into. And I've mentioned this before. If your second toe is longer than your big toe, I'm not a fan.

01:51:30 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

You don't like that?

01:51:30 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't like that at all.

01:51:31 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 3:

That's weird to me. I thought that there was some kind of survey that showed that that says something about their-

01:51:35 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 4:

Like your royalty or something.

01:51:36 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's something to it. Somebody with a longer toe may be there. I would go.

01:51:41 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 1:

Web toes.

01:51:42 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Web toes.

01:51:43 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 1:

I like web toes.

01:51:45 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 3:

Really? Are you kidding?

01:51:46 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 1:

It's like little built-in flippers.

01:51:48 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 4:

Are you serious? The spread out toes?

01:51:50 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 1:

I bet that if we are in harm's way in the ocean, you'll get me out. So your perfect woman has horse teeth, web toes, a third arm. You want to marry Shrek. I didn't say we had to combine them all at once.

01:52:09 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what I find attractive to girls? And I don't know what it is. It might be something from a girl that I went to school with years ago. I love girls with big eyebrows, like bushy eyebrows.

01:52:20 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 1:

I wish I had bushy eyebrows so bad.

01:52:22 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 3:

There was something about, and actually there was one girl that I grew up with that had a unibrow, like almost kind of unibrow-ish. It didn't touch, but it was like there was something that was just so hot about it. She had big eyebrows and like they were shaped in a kind of a cool way. They were kind of nice. They kind of looked like yours, Kev. Look at you.

01:52:44 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Ladies have to me, they wish they had my eyebrows so they could arch them.

01:52:47 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 3:

That's right. What's up, Ken? How you doing?

01:52:50 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:52:50 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Ken. What's happening?

01:52:53 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, just driving to work.

01:52:55 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 3:

Ken, we're talking about the thing that you're attracted to on a woman that people might find to be unusual.

01:53:03 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 2:

So the dimples on the lower back? Oh, yeah. Or the V in the front. Like the, I call them cuckers.

01:53:13 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, hold on. I've got to dump that. I've got to dump that. By the way, Zach, just for the podcast, leave it in. Just for the podcast, leave it in. You can't say that, Ken, but for the podcast, we'll leave it on there. But that might be the funniest. I've never heard of it that way before.

01:53:34 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:53:37 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 3:

Ken, you're a legend. Oh, no. You are an effing legend. Hey, real quick, you're talking about the dimples in the back. How hot is it on a girl when she's wearing yoga pants and you see the shape of everything, the legs up to the butt and everything like that?

01:53:55 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's the whole reason they created them, right?

01:53:58 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 1:

Did we forget the basis of this weird thing? That's just like calling in and me being like, I hate when guys have 12-packs. Isn't that weird? No, I know. You're calling out sexy things. I said webbed toes and horse teeth.

01:54:12 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 2:

It's something that no one else called in and said. Yes.

01:54:15 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 1:

ever in the history of the Mojo in the Morning show, ever, you win I cannot believe that

01:54:21 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 3:

but Megan, you have to understand though, when we're talking about the not everybody can pull it off though and there are some that do pull it off and they're beautiful, right?

01:54:34 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, absolutely Exactly, yeah Oh man, look at that girl

01:54:41 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh God

01:54:42 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 1:

Or at least most women in yoga pants A public service from Mojo in the morning.

01:54:46 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

That is mean. Why did our boss write that? Dana, what is it that turns you on? Ankles. Ankles. You are hot for girls' ankles. Oh, my God.

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 4:

What is it that you like about their ankles?

01:55:02 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

I love nice little petite ankles that stick out really far. I don't know. It's my wife's ankles. It was funny. When we met, there was some baseball player that was hot after her, and he was like, you have nice ankles. And I go, see, I told you you have nice ankles. And she's like, I know, but the baseball player might be rich someday. And I thought, oh, shoot.

01:55:25 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 4:

Wait. So some baseball player was flirting with your wife, and the thing that she liked the most about her was her ankles?

01:55:34 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

That's what he liked the most about her, and that's what, I mean, besides the obvious, you know, things. Yeah, definitely ankles.

01:55:43 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 4:

Was the thing. Was the thing. All right. What kind of ankles do you like on your girls? I like girls with ankles. I just wanted to, you know. Not ankles. Thank you for the call, buddy. We'll talk to you later. We'll see you. Please have an ankle.

01:56:02 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 6:

Hey, to all the employees of other radio stations that religiously listen to 955, thanks for listening, guys. You made the right choice.

01:56:35 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30s.

01:56:37 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 5:

Shannon is here, present and accounted for. She's a little hoarse, though, so I'm going to take over dirty duties. I'm watching you. I have her blessing. Uh-oh, now you're getting me nervous. All right, let's start things off. Congratulations are in order for ASAP, Rocky, and Rihanna. They are expecting their third child. Congratulations to them. Yesterday, she debuted her growing baby bump at the Carlisle Hotel in New York City before arriving on the red carpet at the Met Gala looking incredible. She braved the rain under black umbrellas, and when she emerged, she did so wearing a gray two-piece skirt set matching knee-high stockings, gray pumps, and a little belly showing. Speaking of the Met Gala, in case you were wondering what this year's theme was all about, here's an explanation.

01:57:26 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 1:

The theme is superfine tailoring black style. It's a tribute to 300 years of black style through the lens of dandyism. Now, a dandy is someone who takes pride in their personal style, thank sharp tailoring and bold flair. For black dandies, though, style became a form of self-expression and quiet rebellion. It started in the 1700s when free black men wore European tailoring to assert freedom and challenge racial hierarchies. as vogue put it the black dandy of the harlem renaissance used dress to assert dignity in a world that denied it suit suits pushed that even further they were loud proud and political today black dandyism is gender fluid you see florals pearls capes and clean tailoring of course you see that legacy in co-chairs asap rocky pharrell williams lewis hamilton and coleman domingo also in icons like andre 3000 dapper dan and janelle monet but nobody embodied this more Then pioneering Vogue editor, the late, great Andre Leon Talley. Talley a fashion titan and, of course, a Matt Gala staple. So the theme is an ode to the impact that black people have had on fashion, an impact that for so long has gone unacknowledged.

01:58:35 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 5:

The looks were incredible yesterday. Andre 3000 wore a piano on his back to the gala. I thought it meant like he's carrying music. That's kind of like how I interpret it. Not sure. Nobody recognized Pamela Anderson, though. Not even sure if she recognized herself. What'd you say?

01:58:51 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 3:

No, he actually came out with an album yesterday. Really? Surprise album. It's all piano. Wow.

01:58:56 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Zach with the dirty. I hear that. Breaking dirty. I'm going to have to go check that out. I love Andre 3000. Pharrell's jacket was made up of 15,000 pearls. Heidi Klum had a $10 million necklace. And the purpose of the gala is to raise money. And yesterday's gala raised the most money in gala history with $31 million. It was a great night overall. The Baltimore Ravens released their kicker, Justin Tucker, yesterday. Kicked his ass out as the NFL investigated him for sexual misconduct. If you haven't been aware of what Justin has been up to, this is what's happening. Tucker. Tucker has been accused of sexual misconduct for 16 massage therapists. 16 massage therapists have accused this man of sexual misconduct in the Baltimore area. All of the alleged misconduct reportedly took place between 2012 and 2016, which is Tucker's first five years in the league. Speaking of freshman 15, the Ravens said two months ago they were going to wade into the NFL.

02:00:00 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 2:

finish this investigation however they drafted kicker tyler loop in the sixth round of the draft last month making tucker expendable see tucker has denied any wrongdoing by the way did you know he sings opera which you just heard to raise money for the catholic church when he's not playing football here he is pretty good pretty good indeed bad guy but i mean great opera singer kristin caballari is calling out actor podcaster harry jowsey for sending her a d-pick the let's be honest host revealed during a march podcast taping that she had received the photo from the too-hot-to-handle alum. Here's her talking about it.

02:00:50 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 5:

I got a D-pick from Harry, you guys.

02:00:55 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

It's gigantic.

02:00:57 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 2:

It's gigantic. Shannon, does Wes see you D-picks?

02:03:05 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we got married on May 2nd in Colorado. Oh, my goodness. Congratulations.

02:03:11 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 1:

It says first week of May, and I'm like, oh, my gosh, just got married. and you guys have been trying to conceive you've gone you know you've done all of the things and you have probably the most frustrating explanation and it's quote-unquote unexplained

02:03:26 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 4:

fertility yes yep we got all the testing done and all of our numbers and everything are fine and we've tried medications and everything and nothing has worked for us

02:03:39 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 1:

and alan definitely very frustrating oh god absolutely um the the letter that you wrote to us said alan in particular um you have always just dreamed of becoming a dad and so tell me

02:03:56 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 5:

about tell me about that dream um well to be honest i kind of already had a taste of fatherhood a few years ago in my last relationship i was basically a stepdad we just weren't married then but i raised a little girl for about uh four years okay and i loved every moment of it and now i i get to see aiden interact with her nephew and um it just makes me see how much she watching your mom and makes me fall in love with her even more and it just excites me because it's

02:04:36 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 2:

gonna happen to us next yeah absolutely yeah and with the two of you both being registered nurses giving your life to helping and assisting other people to see smiles put on their faces this definitely will be a great opportunity to give you the love and put the smile on your faces that

02:04:52 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 1:

you two deserve this is when you guys need to rally get all your friends and family and co-workers all those other nurses at the hospitals that you work at.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 5:

Post everything on social media and vote, vote, vote.

02:05:04 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes, exactly. We've been trying. We're trying.

02:05:07 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 7:

Well, keep on trying. MojoOnTheMorning.com. Again, blast that out to all your family and friends, okay?

02:05:14 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

02:05:15 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 7:

Thank you guys for this opportunity. It was nice to meet both of you.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 5:

Good luck to you.

02:05:18 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 7:

Good luck. Thank you so much. Have a good day. You as well. We got another family. This family hails from Clinton Township. Lindsey and Drew, is it Heilemon?

02:05:29 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:05:29 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. How are you? Good.

02:05:32 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

02:05:33 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 7:

We are doing fantastic. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

02:05:38 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm an apprentice, 30-year apprentice. Love and friends. Hanging out with our dog, Mr. Pick.

02:05:50 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 5:

Lizzie, I think you need to talk for Drew. His phone is not good.

02:05:54 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Uh-oh. I think it was because we were on speaker. okay yeah you sound clearer now okay um i am a kindergarten teacher and i just love working with my kids um i like to go and watch them at their sporting events and their dance recitals and they just truly have a special place in my heart um so this has been a little extra difficult for

02:06:26 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 5:

us not being able to have our own. You wrote in your letter, Lindy, that you guys met each other a little bit later in life than most. And from the very beginning of your relationship, you talked about this dream of starting and building a family together. Yes. We were 30,

02:06:46 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 3:

31 when we met okay um and so we were very clear from the very beginning what we wanted and we just kind of aligned in all of our values and everything and our dream was to have like three or four kids and so we started like right after we got married and it just wasn't happening

02:07:09 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 5:

for us yeah and you did all the things you did the supplements you did the tests you talked to countless doctors and nobody had any sort of explanation for why it was such a struggle for

02:07:21 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 3:

you guys to get pregnant right yeah there's no answer and that makes it even harder yeah and

02:07:27 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 7:

you talked about multiple babies and from what i've been told that's a possibility still we have

02:07:32 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 5:

so we have so many sets of twins i can i i really hope that um and it's so hard because you hope this for every couple that we meet but i hope you do get the chance to talk to and meet dr shama and his team because they are just absolutely incredible and and so compassionate about what they do and making you guys our mojo gives you a baby contest couples pregnant but also anybody um that he sees so just the absolute best of luck to you guys that's right lindsey and drew

02:08:03 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 7:

make sure you tell everybody all your families and friends check out mojo in the morning.com Voting is open now. You need to get some votes.

02:08:11 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 3:

02:08:22 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 7:

All right. Well, Mojo in the Morning. Mojo gives you a baby. Now's the time to enter to win. Let's get these votes. Lindsay and Drew, have a great day, guys. Bye, guys. Thank you. You too.

Listen to Mojo in the Morning on the free iHeartRadio app. is subscription-free to listen to Channel 955, Mojo, and all the podcasts. Free never sounded so good.

02:08:43 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 6:

It is Mojo in the Morning Show. Do you guys remember back when we talked to those guys that gave a Heimlich to, it was a squirrel, wasn't it? A raccoon. A raccoon. Well, this weekend, the savior of an animal was actually Shannon's husband who had to save your your dog is that right this is the craziest story i mean obviously i

02:09:09 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

i've seen the heimlich maneuver being done on humans before um but the night before last we had to do it on one of the dogs and so i have three dogs which i know is absolutely crazy do not do that because you i am out of my mind you will go out of your mind but um i have my dog Charlie who's a little toy poodle he's almost 15 years old I have my puppy Bo who's almost one and then Wes has a Frenchie named Willow who's four years old and they have these these treats slash toys that I give them that I got from Premier Pet Supply it's like a really hard rubber ball and then you open the ball and you put like these little treats that you buy at the pet store in them you close the ball and then it takes the dogs a while to like yeah it takes the dogs a while to get.

02:10:00 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 2:

through them because it's it's like a game right so I had Bo's toy and I had given it to him I couldn't find Willow's little ball so I was like I'm just gonna give her the treat thing that goes in the middle so you store them in the fridge I took the thing out of the fridge I put it down on the ground and it's like the size of a golf ball it's like some sort of peanut butter blah blah blah but it's firm right it's that soft like peanut butter it's pretty hard so I thought she would crunch it up well she didn't she was hungry i don't know and inhaled oh my god the dang thing again a treat the size of a golf ball you guys she started actually choking and it was so scary to watch her like she could not breathe and she was panicking and she was shaking and wes then started panicking and sprung into action like you see on tv and went over to her picked her up and started doing the Heimlich on her like you would do for a person. It wasn't working at first. And so then I'm thinking, oh, my God, I killed this dog with a treat. Like, this dog is not going to make it. And then all of a sudden, after it felt like a minute or a minute and a half, this thing shot out of her mouth. Wow. Into my kitchen cabinet. Yeah. It was actually really scary. But then I looked at him. I'm like, wait, what just happened?

02:11:13 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

So the Heimlich, and by the way, has anybody ever had to resuscitate their pet? Like, I would love to know if anybody's ever actually done mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-

02:11:47 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 3:

or stuff. Same. It's easy to sit here in a chair with a mic in front of me and like say oh yeah I'm the guy that you know can jump into action like that. When you're in the moment you see the dog choking. I don't know what I would have done. I probably would have slapped her back or like

02:12:01 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 2:

hung her upside down. Oh my god. I don't know what I would have done. Get it out. Get it out.

02:12:10 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 4:

I don't know

02:12:12 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 2:

but I would not have done what he did.

02:12:14 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 4:

Willow would be dead. You'd be having to explain to your kids.

02:12:17 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

She's actually so heavy. There's no way I would feasibly be able to do that.

02:12:21 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Willow eats like I do. With not chewing.

02:12:25 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 3:

We got to watch you around balls. We got to watch you around balls. Yes.

02:12:29 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 4:

Keep me away from balls. I just. Right in there. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. has anyone ever had to do like the the heimlich maneuver or any kind of safe life that is so scary do you take it was do they have pet cpr classes like they have human cpr classes i'm assuming west must have taken a human cpr class if he knew exactly how to do the heimlich because the heimlich is something that you just see on tv sometimes but you can't just figure out exactly

02:13:04 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 2:

where to hit it yeah i mean i don't know that i would be able to do the heimlich i know kind of what to do but

02:13:10 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 4:

that man is not only good looking he is

02:13:13 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 2:

he is a hero

02:13:19 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 4:

he is a hero

02:13:20 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 1:

I wasn't going to say it but if I saw my man doing that that would turn me on saving lives

02:13:28 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 4:

did you get a little tingly inside thinking about this

02:13:32 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 2:

I had a few cocktails so I just crawled him into bed did he get you behind me

02:13:38 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 4:

But KP's right though That's a very romantic thing

02:13:42 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 2:

And it was very impressive

02:13:43 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Becca, what's going on?

02:13:46 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 1:

So this actually happened to me and my dad My cat was actually sick And we were giving her her medication It was a pill that she had to swallow She ended up actually choking in front of us And she actually ended up dying In front of us Because we could not resuscitate her

02:14:02 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 4:

That took a hard turn

02:14:04 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 1:

and this actually happened to us and it was so sad i mean she was old to begin with but still it was like oh my god oh my god what do you do so like i we literally saw her like her life go

02:14:17 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 4:

away from her that's see if you would add west there uh you would add you would add uh that

02:14:24 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 1:

your cat still with you today yeah no but it was it it happens honestly i've heard it happen before

02:14:30 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 3:

So that whole nine lives thing It's not true

02:14:34 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 4:

Amy what's going on It's Mojo in the morning Hi

02:14:39 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 1:

She wasn't about to get her pet She's also appalled

02:14:46 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 4:

By that last joke you just said Nathan what's going on It's Mojo in the morning Hi

02:14:50 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

What is it about this topic

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

That is making you

02:15:00 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 3:

a first-time caller did you ever save an animal yeah so uh we used to have what are called pygmy goats they're fainting goats and we bought them when i was about 16 years old and one day when i was coming home from school the goat was giving birth one had already been born the other one was stuck inside of her so i ran inside grabbed some gloves and i helped to make the baby uh the goat give birth to the other baby goat. You delivered a goat.

02:15:30 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 4:

Dr. Nathan. That's amazing, buddy.

02:15:33 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 3:

So the goat wasn't breathing, so I took it inside and I gave it mouth to mouth. Get out of here. We got the mouth to mouth. Nathan, were you successful? I was successful. It is still living to this day. Play the music for him.

02:15:50 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, I gotta go back into my music system here. When did you name it? Nathan. Nathan.

02:15:59 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 3:

You're the daddy. Nathan Jr.

02:16:01 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 4:

Nathan, KP is so turned on right now by you. I can't even contain myself.

02:16:08 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Were you wearing steel-toed boots?

02:16:12 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 4:

Are you single?

02:16:13 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 3:

I was. Fast pro shot. He was. He was?

02:16:16 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 4:

Are you single? Because of KP, you know, this might be an opportunity here.

02:16:21 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 3:

I am happily in a relationship, sadly. Good for you.

02:16:25 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 4:

Do you say unhappily or happily?

02:16:27 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 3:

Very happily, very happily.

02:16:30 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay, all right. Jalen, did you save a cat?

02:16:34 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my wife and I saved our cat.

02:16:36 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 4:

Really? What did you guys have to do to your cat?

02:16:39 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

So we had to give it chest compressions, mouth to mouth, whole thing. Our dog had a pig in your tree, and the kitten got a little too close to it, and the dog had food dispersion at the time, and it nipped at the cat, and it went into shock and died. Wow.

02:16:55 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. See? Wow.

02:16:56 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you did CPR to bring it back, so did you bring it back or did it die?

02:17:00 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 2:

Nope, it's been a track and it's still alive.

02:17:02 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that amazing? Quick question for you on this. When you're doing CPR on a cat, is it just like the CPR that you do on Human Beings where you think of that song, Stayin' Alive, from that old disco song? Yeah, it's like, bah, bah, bah, bah. That's wild. Somebody gave mouth-to-mouth to a dog, and her name is Sherry. Hi, Sherry.

02:17:30 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. First time, long time. Oh, yes. Sherry's on the phone.

02:17:35 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm being told it's mouth-to-snout for the dog.

02:17:39 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 1:

It is. Yes. It is. So after a house fire, my brother's dog was in the basement, and I was petrified because my brother wasn't home. I didn't want him to find out his dog had passed away that way. so when they brought the dog out the firefighters had him um very limp in his arms and i took the dog and started doing cpr which is mouth is now same exact concept for humans you close their mouth and go directly through their nose and he came back the firefighters were trying to get me off of the dog um until he started coming back and they're like no letter by the dog letter by the dog yeah i'm sure you want me to save you now yes by the way that's an accommodation that you

02:18:22 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 4:

you get from the firefighters they should actually give you a key to a key to their fire truck or something i don't know i agree that's amazing it's like they're like ma'am get away no i'm saving this thing aren't they supposed to want to save too i i'm surprised

02:18:36 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 1:

the dog was very scary he looked like a he's a pit bull and he looked like a tiger yeah and so i can understand why they were like get away from the dog yeah but when the dog came back he knew immediately who the firefighter was that was telling me to get away and he made eye contact with him, and I was like, oh, snap, this is about

02:18:54 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 4:

to get over me. Yeah, he's going to go right after him. Thank you for the call.

02:18:57 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 1:

He lived, like, another eight years.

02:18:59 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. It's awesome. The text that I wish that we could have gotten on the air, but they said they can't talk is the person that gave mouth to, I don't know, what would it be for a duck? It was a duck. She said it was mouth to beak. Mouth to beak. Is that crazy? Quack, quack. You were the mistress

02:19:17 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 1:

before being the girlfriend? Oh, that'll work. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 9.40 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:19:30 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:19:38 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:19:40 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Live. Mojo in the Morning Show. It's time now for Am I the A-Hole on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Please don't use the actual word. But we're going to give you a chance to tell somebody whether you think they're an a-hole for what they're doing or thinking of doing. On the phone with us is Garrett. Garrett wants to know if he's an a-hole.

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 3:

a-hole and Garrett what's the story buddy tell us everything hey guys um so my buddy and I uh

02:20:06 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 4:

went out to a casino the other day and I'm I'm a horrible gambler I barely know what I'm doing like I barely know the rules of blackjack and so I brought in you know we were gonna have a couple drinks get some wings and um we each brought like 100 bucks now I blew through mine almost within the first 30 minutes I had no idea what I was doing it was fun but I didn't know what I was doing um my buddy he was he was kicking butt at it and eventually like later on you know i was kind of like watching over his shoulder he was like hey do you want to play a little bit more i was like i mean yeah cool but i didn't want to spend any more money he was doing well so he gave me like 25 extra bucks i was like oh thanks and i was kind of looking over his shoulder trying to play a little bit more blackjack still sucked in still not doing anything and literally like my last five bucks i went to a slot machine and i hit the jackpot and i won a couple g's it was so exciting we're having it was it was lit so we went to um with that i was able to um i got us some extra drinks for the night we got like the premium ones i got us some steak there we even went out went to another place it was all on me like i you know i i spent it all on it okay now he's saying that he wants to have some of the some of the winning like i have some left over and he said he wants some of that but that that why why because he gave you that because he gave you 25 bucks to play right and look i mean don't get me wrong like i see where he's coming from but like look i never win these kind of things i never have that kind of luck and so i was like just kind of like you know i'm swimming in it i have a couple bills i want to kind of pay off here too okay and the money that he gave me i paid that back dude did you do cocaine too while you were

02:21:45 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 3:

He's doing this thing. He's got the money now. Take a breath. Holy Christ. I can't understand a freaking word. So he gave you 25 bucks. You took some of that money. You played it in a slot. You got lucky, and you ended up winning some money. Then you took him out to go eat and do all that stuff. You actually spent all the money doing that stuff? I probably spent over $1,000 on him.

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 4:

So we'll pay $500 on him.

02:22:13 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That was his thank you. That was his thank you. Yes, you do not. He gave you that $25 as a gift, and there is no required. What's the word I'm looking for?

02:22:26 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, if I would have won millions, I can talk to you about it. But, like, it's not like hundreds of thousands of dollars.

02:22:34 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 3:

Did you give him, though, his original $25 back? I didn't hear what you said. You didn't eat.

02:22:40 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 4:

No, he wants, like, he wants a good, like, cut.

02:22:43 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I know. But did you, so you took him out to eat, that was the payment that you think that you gave to him? Take him out to eat, the entertainment. All right. Question for you. You did not give him physically his 25 bucks back? No. Okay. Here's the Vegas rules on this one. There are rules on this one. There's an etiquette that is in Vegas on this. And you were actually gambling here in town, so this is in Vegas, but Detroit's got rules too, or we'll cut you. um here's the rules the rules are if somebody gives you money to play or chips to play okay and this is this is something i learned when i was in vegas your winnings off the top initially whatever the money is whether it's in this case 25 you got to give him back his 25 bucks

02:23:27 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 2:

then you're good free and clear the fact that you treated him to a nice dinner and drinks and stuff

02:23:31 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 3:

so nice of you it's wonderful but you still got to give him his 25 bucks I disagree.

02:23:35 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 4:

I see that. I can see that.

02:23:38 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 3:

And if you give him his $25 back, you're free and clear on the deal. I don't care if you win a million dollars or $20 billion.

02:23:44 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't think he even has to give the $25 back. I think he's already free and clear.

02:23:47 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. But the problem, though, is he can come back and say, hey, I really didn't intend on getting this for free. I would have paid for my food. You paid ahead of time. You've got to give him his $25 back because the problem is this. The problem is that Vegas rules are if somebody lends you, you've got to pay back.

02:24:06 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Here's what I equate it to. My mom gives me lottery tickets for everything. In my Christmas stocking, for my birthday, in a Halloween card. If I win, whatever I win, I don't have to give her the $2 back that she spent on that lottery card.

02:24:19 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 3:

No, that's a gift, though. It was a gift. But this is not a gift. This is a, here, I'm giving you some money to play.

02:24:23 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

He threw him money. That's a gift. It's not wrapped up in a bow or in a card. But it is a gift. I'll never take you to Vegas. He didn't say, we shop anyway. He didn't say, I'm going to let you borrow $25. He said, here's $25.

02:24:39 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 1:

You guys, he never would have won this money without it. The credit half goes to the guy who lent him money. So you think he deserves to give half? I would have split it in half. Half of however many thousands he won. I would have split it in half. You never would have hit it. Let's say he won $30,000. He never would have won $30,000 without. out the $25,000, and $15,000 to take home, still a nice payday. Risk your take.

02:25:04 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 5:

I'll give you a little bit. Yeah. If it wasn't my idea. So, like, it was my idea for us to even go to this casino.

02:25:10 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 2:

All right. So, it's your idea. You're sitting around. Now you're grabbing for straws.

02:25:14 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 1:

I want to give them $25 bucks back, but I think you need to have a conversation. Like, if we're going to have a meal and I'm going to pay for it, do you want this to cover your $25, or do you just want the $25 bucks back, and you call it a day? You keep the rest.

02:25:26 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 5:

I'll still give them the $25. I have no complaints about that. I think that's fair. I understand that etiquette. I agree with that. But he's asking for, like, more. Like, we're talking like he's asking for a few hundred. He's trying to get, like, a thousand in there.

02:25:40 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

Let me grab calls. Let me see what the listeners think of this one. Am I the a-hole? Victoria, do you think that Garrett is an a-hole?

02:25:48 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 7:

No. For one, if he would have lost the $25, the guy would have been up to $25 regardless. So giving him that money, it's gone. At that point, when you get up to some exam, he's gone.

02:26:01 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:26:02 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 7:

Okay. I could possibly see maybe doubling what he gave you. Maybe. Maybe. But you already spent $500 on him.

02:26:10 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 2:

See, you don't even need to do that much. I'm telling you, just pay him his $25 back and call it a day. That's the easiest way to do it. What's up, Dennis?

02:26:18 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 4:

I feel crazy.

02:26:19 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? Am I the...

02:26:21 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 4:

He should be giving him the $25 back. He should have already done that.

02:26:26 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:26:26 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 4:

I mean...

02:26:27 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 2:

That should have happened the moment that he cashed out. It should have been the first money that he gave when the cashier gave him the money. He took him to dinner.

02:26:34 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 5:

I do not gamble often, so this is completely new to me, but you're absolutely right. I'm not arguing that at all. I will be giving him that immediately.

02:26:44 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 7:

I disagree with that. How good of friends are you?

02:26:47 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 2:

How good of friends, Garrett, are you?

02:26:50 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 5:

How good of friends? I mean, we've been since college, so a couple years now. We're not, like, best buds, but, like, we hang out probably at least, like, you know, once or twice a month.

02:27:01 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

Once or twice a month. That's actually a very good friend. By the way, he's diminishing the friendship because he doesn't want to have to pay any more money. What's up, Renee?

02:27:09 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 7:

Hey, but I don't think he should get that money back. I mean, if you want to, that's up to him. But he's got almost $500 for him to take him out to eat, party, everything. No, he's not. Like, I don't think he should get that money back at all, but if you want to, it's up to him.

02:27:24 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 2:

Kayla, what do you think? Am I the a-hole?

02:27:28 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. I think that as a friend, that person is being selfish and taking advantage of him because he just won some money. But there was no stipulations when he handed him the $25. And I think that he should keep the rest of that money for himself. I don't think he owes him anything.

02:27:45 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 2:

Am I the a-hole? Devin, what do you think? Is Garrett an a-hole for not giving his friend any bit of his winnings?

02:27:52 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 6:

uh well i mean not necessarily not a-hole but good etiquette is to give you know the 25 bucks back and maybe a percentage of the win as a gambler so a percentage you're being states yeah percentage i mean it's 10 20 depending on what his winning is you know can i tell you a

02:28:09 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 2:

story that relates to this uh garrett and in devon you too uh if you want to hear it i was in vegas once with a friend of mine and we were playing blackjack at the Bellagio and I started with $250 and I went, I sat on a hundred dollar table. Now, not a smart move, right? A hundred dollar table is a minimum, a hundred dollars. So I figured, you know what? I was having such bad luck on a $10 table and a $25 table. I went there and I started going on a little bit of a roll. I went on such a roll that I had a chance to double my, my bet that was on the table. And It was like $2,500 to bet, okay, that you had to put down to win $5,000, all right? The guy that was sitting next to me gave me the money. He literally gave me the money. Gave me, I think it was like $1,500 or $2,000 that I needed to get to double down. Are you serious? Stranger? Swear to God. First off, the guy looked like a, I don't know, like a Middle Eastern Jeff Sackwa, all right? He looked kind of like Jeff Sackwa, my buddy. But you don't know what Jeff is, but you laugh. It's good because he's that kind of a guy to laugh at. So guy gives me the money. I hit, I win. All right. Guy says to me, no, I don't want your winnings. He didn't say he wanted the winnings. He said, you can just pay me back the money that I gave you and take your winnings and go. And that's what I did. And that's when I learned the whole Vegas Thales. One guy did that. One guy did it. Now, here's the deal. If I lost.

02:29:42 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 7:

He was out that money.

02:29:43 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 2:

I was going to run so fast from that What do you do at that point Honestly he said to me He goes you're on a roll right now He basically was like

02:29:53 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 4:

It was an unbelievable story

02:29:55 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

It's the most money I've ever won in one sitting In Vegas I'm a big boy

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 5:

blackjack player and i see that happen a lot at the table it's because some people get hot cards

02:30:04 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 2:

right you get a hot spot and and he wanted me to stay on the table i was willing to honestly just take you know not do a double down he said that that double down was going to help the table long story short garrett here's the deal if you don't give us some of the money yeah we're going to break your legs okay no honestly here's what you say here's what you say to the guy say to that guy that friend of yours i'll give you half the winnings but you got to pay half the taxes and see what he says on that okay because you had to fill out a form right for taxes yeah but tell him he's got to pay see if he wants to pay half the taxes i guarantee he's not gonna pay half the

02:30:45 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 5:

money is it ten thousand dollars i think it's ten dollars they do they get your information

02:30:52 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 2:

they ask you for your id yeah that's interesting i don't know what the deal is is that what it is

02:30:58 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 5:

in michigan devon uh i thought it was seven thousand in michigan but he also didn't say how much he won yeah i'm not gonna lie when we won there was like a paper i signed i was really excited seeing gold so there was a lot of things that kind of happened at once yeah i think that

02:31:12 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

you uh i don't know a majority of people are saying you should it's crazy as it sounds they say that you should actually pay some of the money to that guy i mean the 25 bucks is the

02:31:23 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 5:

is the honest thing to do. If you feel like a percentage is worth it, you know, go ahead and give it, but it's not deserved. You know, you'd be even Stevens after the 25, honestly.

02:31:34 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 1:

All right.

02:31:36 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. What would you do, Kevin?

02:31:38 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 1:

Nah, he already ate his money and drunk his money.

02:31:41 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 2:

So it's done.

02:31:41 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 3:

But he didn't give him the answer of would you like the money or would you like to go have a party? That party is now on him.

02:31:47 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 1:

Nah, it's not. You enjoy the fruits of my labor, now you want your money back at the end. Give him the fruits

02:31:52 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 3:

of his labor.

02:31:53 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 1:

He said, you're my bro. Here go 25. Have fun.

02:31:58 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 5:

Look, we both won that night. Like, he had a great night, way better than what he thought he was, and he needed to spend a dime. He gave me 25 bucks, and his night exploded. My night also exploded, but I'm also walking away with a little bit more money. That's just how the night goes. I never get that luck. I never get that. So when I finally have it, I kind of want to hang on to it.

02:32:18 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 3:

And you'll never get it again because karma's a bitch and you're nice to your friend. It's all downhill.

02:32:25 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 2:

Garrett, you know the beauty of not having to pay any money to any friends is when you spend all that money and you don't have the money to have to spend. So, all right, give to them. So just spend the money. Go crazy. All right, take care of yourself.

02:32:39 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 4:

02:33:33 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Cav. Almost got into an accident yesterday. What's the story, Kevin?

02:33:42 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

So, like this song, I was pretty turnt up yesterday. Although not to Little John and Esai boys. for the 90% of people in the world who have no idea that yesterday was the 8th year anniversary of Drake's album Views which, little known fact is the first album in the streaming era to sell a million copies in the first week just a little known fact I was reminiscing I had it turned up first five tracks I'm in deep, it's going crazy pause, loving every single minute of it I'm hyped and throughout this experience i don't realize until i turn to my right and i see a spider on my shoulder immediately it's defcon 5 and i'm no longer saying drake lyrics i yell oh spit like and i'm i'm left hand i'm driving right hand i'm vibing come to both hands i'm vibing but at a certain point in time no hands were on the wheel and i'm smacking my shoulder because the only thing that matters is getting this spider off of my shoulder i don't care where it goes and then all of a sudden i realize as the horn beeps next to me that i'm in somebody else's lane their piss is one of those situations where once you kind of get things correct and they pull up

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 3:

They kind of looking at you like, what you doing? I'm like, I'm sorry.

02:35:03 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the spider almost caused an accident. Wow.

02:35:07 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 3:

I did not know that you were a spider. Yeah, if you see a spider like in your house, do you freak out like that? No, I'll go kill it. I'm not scared of spiders like that. If it's on your body. It's on my shoulder in the midst of a turn-up session where I'm not expecting it. Yeah. And it's like four inches from my face. Yeah, no, I'm with you there. Come on, man. That's cause for concern

02:35:30 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 4:

Really? I did not I did not know that I did not know that you were a You were a screamer I did not know that you screamed over something like this Okay I thought that a spider, a little old spider Like it's not like it's a You know, tarantula or something like that How big was the spider?

02:35:49 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 3:

It was probably like the size of a large fly The size of a large fly Was it the size of a quarter? No, it was smaller than that It was smaller than a quarter. Is it dime?

02:36:00 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 5:

It doesn't matter. I feel like the smaller, the worse. It's on your shoulder. They could get anywhere, too. The little tiny, they could crawl into your ear. It's the big, fuzzy, fat ones.

02:36:10 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

If you're not, like, why is a spider in my car? First off, why is it on my shoulder while I'm turning up? You don't expect this to happen.

02:36:19 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't crawl into a web and go, this is my home now. Respect me, and I'll respect you.

02:36:24 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 3:

Charlotte, stay over there. I'm going to be on my side. Correct. Charlotte's web.

02:36:28 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 4:

By the way, if you got yourself into a car accident and the police come, all right, and they're doing the police report, and they say, what was it? And you say a spider. Do you think that the guy's going to go, hmm? You're going to say, I get it.

02:36:43 - 02:36:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, he is. I get it. Yeah, he is. Huh?

02:36:47 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I don't think so. I think he's going to be like, come on. Hey, look at you. What are you?

02:36:51 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 3:

Bro.

02:36:52 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 4:

You're the size of a linebacker for guy six. It doesn't matter.

02:36:54 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 3:

Did I overreact? Potentially. No. Yes.

02:36:57 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 4:

And I don't buy, by the way, when he says that he kills the spiders at home. Call Sherelle. I bet you it's Sherelle.

02:37:02 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:37:03 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Sherelle's the one killing it. It's Josiah, yeah. It's like, Josiah, Joe, get over here. What's going on, Miranda?

02:37:11 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So, long-time listener here. Again, calling.

02:37:16 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, so second-time caller. Thank you.

02:37:20 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 1:

My husband's grandmother has totaled out two cars due to spiders. Valid. And I have probably taken out or almost taken out like two or three of my cars due to insects. Really? The funniest one was back when we were living in Toledo. And we were leaving his grandmother's house. And we had his brother with us. And this butterfly flew in through the windows. And I completely let go of the wheel and like freaked out over a butterfly.

02:37:50 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. The only thing funnier than Kev almost taking out a bunch of cars because of a spider would be Kev and a butterfly.

02:37:58 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

Are you afraid of butterflies too, Kev? I'm not scared of spiders. It's the reality that it was on my shoulder while I'm driving.

02:38:06 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 4:

Rachel.

02:38:06 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

I had context.

02:38:07 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Rachel.

02:38:11 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Rachel.

02:38:12 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Rachel. I just listened to the show giggling.

02:38:14 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 3:

It's a good show.

02:38:15 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

We lost you there for a second. Rachel. Rachel. There you are. Hi.

02:38:19 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 2:

hi dead spot there what's going on yeah i have a funny i have a funny story i was um driving back from florida and i was almost you know i was just almost to michigan so i was a little delirious because i drove straight through and he probably size of a quarter spider came out of my um my baseboard of my car like my windshield baseboard and i kind of panicked but then it went back inside and um two weeks later it reappeared when i was driving my daughter to school and so it been that entire time for two weeks it was in my car oh there's babies there

02:38:51 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 4:

were babies made oh my god don't say that yeah probably you know what's funny is that i i have no fear of spiders not at all i have fear of like alligators you know what i mean like something like that like i get fear of that i get fear of snakes okay snakes spiders though for you're not

02:39:10 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 5:

and i gotta believe more people are injured and killed by spiders than

02:39:16 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 4:

alligators i i don't get but i don't even get like fearful of like a bee if a bee gets in a car or

02:39:22 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 5:

or a wasp or something i love bees you know bees are way different than even spiders because spiders don't really bite i mean some of them probably do i have two spider bites on my leg right now but a bee sting bees like will literally put poison inside of you for me you can lose a limb

02:39:43 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

from a spider do you remember when we did the contest with oh my god with slim slim and uh intern jack black yes and we had intern jack black and slim in a car we did a spelling bee and we did a spelling bee with them and we unleashed bees into the car

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 6:

Like 100 bees Did they know about this?

02:40:04 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 7:

They were bumblebees They didn't even realize it They were non-stinging bumblebees They had no clue

02:40:09 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 6:

Those two idiots thought they still stung

02:40:11 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 7:

I didn't know that so I know What's up Debbie how you doing?

02:40:16 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi Mojo Evan everyone love the show I had a co-worker that was so afraid of spiders That one day it was like 10 o'clock in the morning And she still wasn't at work And we were like, where is Melissa? So we got a little worried and called her up. And she was like, oh, my God, I can't get out of my apartment. I opened the door, and there was a spider in the entrance lane. I can't get out. I've been stuck in here all morning. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's so good. She said finally she was able to open the door and spray it dead, and then she came to work. But, oh, my God, she was still afraid of spiders.

02:40:54 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 7:

That is a great excuse to be late for work. Hello? Hello. Hi. Can you hear me? Yes. Hi.

02:41:01 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 6:

Everybody's phones are so funky.

02:41:03 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Debbie. Hey, Debbie. Tell your story. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Yeah. Hi.

02:41:06 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Oh, hi. So, I had a coworker named Melissa that was so deathly afraid of spiders. Really? That one day at work.

02:41:15 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 7:

Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me guess. She called in sick saying that she couldn't get in because of the spider.

02:41:23 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, almost. I mean, like, it was 10 a.m., and she still hadn't arrived at work, so we got worried that something had happened to us. So we called, and she was like, oh, my God, I'm stuck in my apartment. I opened the door, and there was a spider in the doorway, and I can't get home.

02:41:39 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 7:

Are you kidding me? Second time around better. Hold on. Hold on. I'm going to put you on hold. Talk to Mojo and tell him that same story, okay? Okay. Thanks. Hi, it's Mojo. Hello.

02:41:53 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo, everyone. We love this show. Good morning. Oh, we love you, too. We love you, too. We've been listening a long time.

02:42:00 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 7:

Oh, we appreciate it. We're talking on the air right now about spiders and Kev's fear of spiders. What's your story?

02:42:10 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, I had a coworker that was so deathly afraid of spiders that at one day, it was like 10 a.m. at work, and Melissa hadn't come in yet. And we got worried about where she was and what had happened to her. So we called her at home. And she was like, oh, my God, I'm stuck in my apartment. I opened the door and there was a spider there and I can't get out. Oh, that's crazy, dude.

02:42:39 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 7:

That is awesome.

02:42:41 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 3:

Did she get out? We got brave enough to open the door and spray it dead with, like, a whole can of fucking spray.

02:42:47 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's a great idea. That is a great story, Debbie. Thank you, Debbie. Give it up for Debbie.

02:42:52 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Debbie. Committed every time.

02:42:56 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 7:

I hope she goes back and listens to that.

02:42:57 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 5:

I think it was a true story, though, because she didn't change anything. It got better and better.

02:43:01 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, her voice got better and better.

02:43:04 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 7:

Worse than being fearful of spiders. Andrea, what do you think?

02:43:08 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 3:

Go to the door and spray it dead with, like, a whole can of fucks.

02:43:11 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's a good idea. That is a great story, Debbie. Thank you, Debbie. Give it up for Debbie.

02:43:17 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Debbie. Committed every time.

02:43:20 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 7:

I hope she goes back and listens to that.

02:43:22 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 5:

I think it was a true story, though, because she didn't change any of the details.

02:43:25 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 6:

It got better and better, yeah. Her voice got better and better.

02:43:28 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 7:

Worse than being fearful of spiders. Andrea, what are you fearful of?

02:43:34 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm not fearful of it, but my friend, I was in her truck with her, and I seen a green tree frog behind her head in her truck, a single cab truck, and I'm like, don't freak out. And she's like, what? And she kind of like tensed up. I'm like, there's a frog behind her head. And she quickly whipped into a parking spot and jumped out of the truck and started freaking out.

02:43:56 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 7:

Honestly, a frog would be something weird, wouldn't it? If all of a sudden you're in the car and a frog.

02:44:01 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 1:

Like, how did the frog get in there?

02:44:03 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. That's a weird one. Here, hold on. Tell us this one more time. I'm just kidding. What's happening? Who is that?

02:44:12 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good morning.

02:44:13 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 7:

Who is that?

02:44:14 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Oh, that's my son, Eric. We were dropping him off, so he wanted to say hello.

02:44:18 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 7:

Hi. How are you? So, LaBelle, you drove with a bee in your car before?

02:44:24 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 2:

So, Eric wasn't born yet. My older kids were in the car, and it was four of us. And the bee got in the window, and I legit had to pull the car over, pull all the kids out, and get the bee out. I have two that are severely allergic.

02:44:36 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:44:36 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 2:

And we were, like, on Lafayette, like, coming off a 75.

02:44:39 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 7:

Oh, Jesus. Harold, where was yours at? You actually got stung by the bee, Harold, right?

02:44:45 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I was driving. and it came in at a stoplight or whatever, and then I took off, and I didn't see it, and then I noticed it, and I was trying to swat at it with my one hand to get it out the window and made a weird eye contact with me and then just hit me in my ear hole. Okay.

02:45:00 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 3:

And then Heather, Heather, yours happened on Gratiot, I heard, huh?

02:45:15 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so my husband, my friend and I were going to the beach and a bee had flew into my car and we were like in the middle of traffic. But I got so scared that I jumped out of the car and refused to get back in the car until the bee was killed. and people started honking at me and getting so mad, but I wasn't getting back in that car and getting stung. Uh-uh, no way.

02:45:34 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine, by the way, could you imagine having to jump out on Gratiot, man, where there's cars all over the place, all because of a bee. Mandy, what's up, Mandy?

02:45:45 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 5:

First of all, you were so messed up to have Debbie repeat herself 75 times. She did?

02:45:52 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 3:

That was awesome. Come on.

02:45:53 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, so funny. This is going to be forever.

02:45:55 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I hope she goes back and listens to the podcast to that because that's gonna be on the facebook too oh that's okay

02:46:01 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 2:

If you haven't been listening to the show today, Shannon is here, present and accounted for, but her voice isn't. So I'm doing

02:46:42 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 4:

the dirtiest. Do you know how sad this is that this happened the day after the Met Gala? I know. The Met Gala.

02:46:48 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 2:

I know. That's like your Super Bowl. It was all that was

02:46:50 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 4:

on in my house yesterday. I'm doing

02:46:52 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing my best for you, Shannon. All right, let's kick off. Let's kick off with the Met Gala. Let's do that. So there are a few rules that Anna Wintour has for her Met Gala. It is fashion's biggest night. Everyone knows about it. The two big rules, though, no phones and no social media. Everyone who attends is aware, yet Megan Thee Stallion, ah, Haley Bailey. Haley Bailey. And Questlove risked the wrath of Vogue's editor-in-chief by whipping out their cell phones and snapping some pictures to commemorate the occasion. And if you were following along on social media, you saw a few pics from inside the gala. Megan Thee Stallion shared several videos of herself indulging in some appetizers. She showed Doji, WNBA superstar Angel Rhee sitting at her table alongside Tracee Ellis Ross, hated her outfit. Doja Cat, hated her outfit. And Sha'Carri Richardson didn't see her outfit. But a lot of people look good. Big shout out to Lauren Hill, who had a beautiful yellow ensemble with the teal little bag on her. She looked incredible. Let me see. Who else looked incredible? I mean, Pharrell always going to do his thing. Interesting thing.

02:48:04 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 4:

Loved Pharrell.

02:48:05 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 2:

So Pharrell, it appeared he had a gold grill in his mouth. But when he was asked by reporters, he said it was actually his Invisalign that he had dipped in gold. Dr. Reynolds, I'm coming to see you. Rihanna has some breaking news. She showed off her baby bump, showing the fact that her and A$AP Rocky are now going to welcome their third child, which had reporters questioning how the baby would impact her new album. Here's what she had to say.

02:48:30 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 5:

Is this putting R9 on pause even longer? Because you were in production. No, maybe a couple videos, but...

02:48:36 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 4:

A couple videos? I could sing. Yes, you did.

02:48:40 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Big shout-out to D-Trey Dandy, too, my boy Nellino. Great night, great night. Moving on, Hailey Bieber was also there. No Justin, though. Fans were wondering, where was Justin Bieber? Where was he? Is this another clue that there's trouble in their marriage? Nope. He was watching in front of a TV with his hockey team. The Toronto Maple Leafs, planning the playoffs. He's a big hockey guy, so that's where he was. Haley was spotted walking around Monday's big fashion event with a martini glass in her hand. Justin, nowhere to be found. The other couple people were wondering about Shannon. Taylor Swift.

02:49:16 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 4:

She was invited. Travis Kelsey, invited.

02:49:18 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 2:

Invited. No show. No show. What do you think? Is she pregnant? Lydia, I know you're our resident Swifty.

02:49:25 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 1:

She's not pregnant. She's trying to record her new album. So I don't think she's going to be showing up anywhere anytime soon.

02:49:33 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 2:

When was her last album?

02:49:34 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 1:

It was April of 2024. It was the Tortured Poets Department.

02:49:37 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 2:

And she's already trying to record another one coming off the Airs Tour?

02:49:40 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. She's going to do Rep TV. She has to re-record it within the next six months, or else she loses the trademark.

02:49:46 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Damn. Okay, ready? I'll see you over here. All right, let's move on. Some developments in the Diddy case. Jury selection is officially underway for Diddy's upcoming criminal trial, which is expected to last between...

02:50:00 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 1:

Eight in 10 weeks. Potential jurors were asked about a star-studded list of names like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Destiny Child's Michelle Williams. Don't know why, but that was part of yesterday's events inside of the courtroom. Potential jurors were also asked about topics like sex and violence and were giving a warning that the case will include graphic content and some upsetting things. We know the FBI and officials raided his home. They found a bunch of videos, a bunch of tapes. Not sure what and won't be shown inside of the courtroom, but, you know, it's not going to be good stuff. One big name, though, if you're wondering who's going to be taking the stand and testifying against Diddy, we don't have many names. One big name we know for sure will be Diddy's ex, Cassie Ventura. She's expected to testify under her real name. Her 2023 lawsuit sparked the numerous allegations against Diddy. Everyone will be waiting with bating breath to see what she has to say. And if you're wondering how Diddy is doing, which I don't know who is, but Diddy's staying behind bars during the trial and he skipped his last chance to plead guilty as things kicked off. He did admit to the judge that he is a little nervous, which probably is the understatement of the year. That's all dirty for the day. Good job, Kat. Shannon will be back tomorrow, hopefully. All right, that's it. Check out the podcast, the iHeartRadio app.

02:51:22 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 3:

02:51:51 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 4:

I do.

02:51:53 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Who do you think he's cheating with?

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sure. That's kind of why I called you guys.

02:52:03 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 2:

He's a little flirtatious with lots of women? We were talking to our producer and she was telling us that...

02:52:12 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 4:

He's like an entrepreneur?

02:52:14 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:52:14 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 4:

A serial entrepreneur? yeah serial entrepreneur who's you know never been as successful as we want him to be and he's often using or creating these new businesses and social media accounts and business cards and i want to support him but it's you know eating up our savings and recently he got a new phone and that kind of cut off alarm bells in my head like why would he need a new phone it doesn't make any sense and like a long time ago like years ago he we worked through this issue of him messaging women online and so i just did you have access to his old phone and

02:52:59 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 2:

maybe that could be why he got a new phone

02:53:01 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 4:

i do have access as his life that makes sense how about his how about his new phone do you have access to that no oh gosh i'd be so uneasy and when when he's messaging people back in the past

02:53:18 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 2:

online he was just sitting there flirting back and forth with these women would he ever meet them face to face or is it purely him uh sending dms it was just messaging and you think he's back to his old ways could be wow you guys uh struggling in your marriage right now like uh this is always something people will tell us that they they're not you know having as much sex as they used to have

02:53:51 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 4:

yeah lately we've been bickering a lot more about money mostly so it kind of these businesses

02:53:59 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 1:

i don't want to downplay the messages but did it ever go beyond that did he ever meet up with any of these people?

02:54:06 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 4:

I mean, he swears no.

02:54:09 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 2:

Do you believe him?

02:54:10 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 4:

And I believe him. You do believe him? Yes, he's... I have to. He's my husband. I do believe him, but there's always that uneasiness. Mm-hmm.

02:54:18 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to call and see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Do us a favor. Hang on the phone, but mute it, and then let us, you know, have Shannon do all the talking.

02:54:30 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:54:30 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're hoping that the roses go to Leah. It's Mojo in the morning.

02:57:26 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 1:

purposes are you okay with that yeah sure okay john i'm gonna jump on here real quick and just say a couple things um that's the way that i feel too yeah yeah i love you guys show i knew it i

02:57:46 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 4:

absolutely knew it john you why'd you make me go through that whole thing you could have just said

02:57:52 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 3:

it at the beginning yeah what is is is leon too she's waiting to to jump on and attack well she's

02:58:00 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 1:

not i don't think she's wanting to attack i think she just wanted to find out some information lea

02:58:04 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 3:

say hi hey you really wanted to drag me on the radio and try and get me to send flowers to somebody

02:58:14 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 1:

else i don't i don't think that she was trying to get you to do it i think she was hoping that you wouldn't but i don't know leah if you want to bring up exactly one of the reasons why you

02:58:29 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 2:

wanted you wanted to do this yeah i've just been curious about that new phone that you won't let me to look at that you saved for business and i just don't buy it oh my god it is for business

02:58:45 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 3:

and uh we can talk all about it at home later but uh i still love you also love the show guys

02:58:54 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 1:

so uh i should go back to work now john i i think i i think that the when we are we're gonna let you go but i think that one of the things that leah felt uncomfortable with is that you've been kind of a little secretive uh with uh with what's going on is there anything else going on that

02:59:13 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 3:

i know you're not going to tell us no i mean no there's nothing else i'm going to tell you guys but uh but i think you're great and uh we

02:59:27 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 1:

think you're great too and unfortunately you know we're we are going to send flowers to you leah so We're going to send them to you, and we'll let you go. Okay? All right, there you go. All right.

02:59:41 - 02:59:42 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:59:45 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

I don't think we get an answer off of that, Leah, because I think he knew right from the start, from the get-go. Yeah. But I want you to hang on, because we are going to send those flowers off to you, but I want to talk more about that.

03:00:00 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay?

03:00:01 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 6:

Sure.

03:00:03 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

03:00:05 - 03:00:07 | Speaker 1:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

03:00:07 - 03:00:18 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Call Mojo in the Morning. 844-MOJO-LIFE. 844-665-6548.

03:00:22 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 4:

I got a couple thoughts. first off my uh gut right away when you started this was that he kind of knew what was going on and i don't know exactly where he was where he realized it was it right off the bat or was it to the point where you know you asked the questions about uh sending the flowers because part of me wonders maybe he figured it out at that point but he did answer yes yes on the uh flowers sending flowers and you know will you send uh flowers in the future but that's where

03:00:59 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 5:

i get suspicious every time when they say yes to both questions i go i think they know what's up

03:01:05 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 4:

yeah because they never say yes to both questions but here here's the the thing though that made her suspicious of this is that he has cheated in the past he's got this new phone for this new business But he won't give her the phone Won't give her the access to the phone But gives her access to his other phone I don't know Stress They always say

03:01:31 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 1:

That if you're suspicious of something Happening on your partner's phone To pretend yours isn't working Or something for a second And be like hey can I see your phone And just get the reaction What's the reaction Do they just hand it over Do they tell you no Do they get all weird and have to do something before they hand it over to you?

03:01:50 - 03:01:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm over my minutes.

03:01:51 - 03:01:51 | Speaker 1:

It's going to tell you a ton.

03:01:52 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 4:

That's what I always say. It's not in my family plan. Exactly.

03:01:58 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes you're embarrassed by what website is pulled up on your safari and you need to close out of it quickly.

03:02:06 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 4:

Here's a couple of text messages here. My favorite is 248 says, she said he was a serial entrepreneur. and for a moment there I thought he was in the cereal business that must have been somebody from what is it Battle Creek is that Kellogg's couple of 586 says I knew he knew it by just the tone of his voice 419 says he sounds like a total D-bag now I feel bad even saying this because here we are after the fact and he did send the flowers sounds like a total D-bag just listen to the way he was with his wife acting as if almost he kind of controls her a little bit is that i don't know was there some controlling there and the conversation that he said he got her off the phone kind of quick um 419 says guarantee he's wiping that phone clean before he goes home today

03:03:01 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 3:

and sees leah to play devil's advocate now that i'm saying he did or didn't cheat we did just come at him with all this stuff like I would be a little on edge too if I just got attacked on the radio by my wife you know what I mean yeah I I get that part like I get it like it's

03:03:20 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 4:

different than second date update where if a person's gaslighting you you kind of agreed to come on the show like ahead of time like we talked to you already about the idea of hey we're gonna have you on you know with somebody this one he doesn't know so anything that he does say that might be a little bit suspicious might sound like he's gaslighting but it could be the natural thing to say like i you know you ever you ever see what your reaction is when you're surprised by somebody's comments that you didn't know or didn't see coming i think if we were all caught off guard it might sound a little sketchy at first sure and we would all sound like we were

gaslighting what's up uh natalie hi guys good morning good morning what's happening First of all, the serial entrepreneur thing, very personal to me. I dated a guy like that once. Never a good thing, ever. They can't have a business and commit to it and, you know, whatever. But my main point is that my one and only, that made my blood boil a little bit. I feel like he definitely knew. And he said it very snarkily, which I didn't like either. Like the tone that he said that did not make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

03:04:30 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so you thought that his card did not seem like a card of somebody that was...

03:04:34 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 6:

No.

03:04:34 - 03:04:41 | Speaker 4:

But he did know it was us, so maybe that was the reason why it was the case. But you're right, though. He didn't seem warm and fuzzy to her.

03:04:42 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 6:

Right, exactly. Like, you're just being a, you know what. You know what I mean?

03:04:46 - 03:04:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. I know exactly what you mean. What's up, Armando?

03:04:52 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I was thinking, is there a possibility he could have looked up the website? because Shannon does say Rosenbloom.com.

03:05:00 - 03:05:03 | Speaker 2:

channel 955 pops up. I didn't know maybe that's how he found out.

03:05:03 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. For those that have never gone to rosesbloom.com, we've been doing it for so long. We do own the site, and it just goes right to our site,

03:05:15 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 2:

our page. But he did say I've listened for a while.

03:05:20 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So he listened to the War of the Roses. I will say this to you. I will say this to you, that if we had any kind of a budget, we would actually make it a real website but we unfortunately have no budget for that that has always been something in all the years that we've done this and and had roses bloom.com we barely have enough money to pay go daddy to be able to have the site so it is kind of embarrassing that might be something that we'll write down in the future that if we ever do get a little i don't know maybe we get an intern or something that actually has web abilities or... Or a serial entrepreneur. A sprinkle of stuff. Yeah. Doesn't have a web design. Maybe we see if that's something that John's got going on in his life. We can have him help us out with. Alright, War of the Roses. If you think somebody's cheating on you, text cheater to 95500.

morning show so i was uh golfing with uh a buddy of mine and after golf we uh decided that we would go back to my house he wanted to take a shower because he was going out on a date with a girl so he was asking me um if he could use my shower at my house because the golf course was right by my house and i said absolutely come back to my house comes back to my house realizes that he didn't bring a couple of things that he was hoping that he could borrow from me And tell me if you, Cav, and Mike, and Zach, as guys, would let another man borrow this. He asked me if he could borrow my underwear. He wanted a pair of my underwear.

03:07:05 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 1:

No.

03:07:06 - 03:07:23 | Speaker 3:

And I think even worse than my underwear, which I don't want another man's balls in my underwear. You know? Even if I clean them, I don't care. Wash them in the hottest of water possible. I will always be thinking about my friend Mike's testicles. Yeah, they're yours now. Those are yours.

03:07:24 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 2:

Those are fancy testicles.

03:07:26 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to go ahead and write you a prescription for two testicles, and you feel free to get this filled out whenever you want.

03:07:32 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 3:

And then the other thing that I thought was just equally as personal, he wanted to have a pair of my slides.

03:07:40 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 2:

What's wrong with that?

03:07:41 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 3:

My oofuses.

03:07:42 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, those are ugly anyway. Give them to them.

03:07:44 - 03:07:52 | Speaker 3:

They're the most comfortable things ever. What are you talking about? Are y'all smashing? That's what I felt like. I felt like I might as well have been, right?

03:07:52 - 03:07:54 | Speaker 2:

But what's wrong with the slides?

03:07:54 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 3:

It's just as gross. His jack, or what is this thing? Athlete's foot? Athlete's foot.

03:08:02 - 03:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, his athlete's foot is already all over your kitchen floor. If he's walking around barefoot in your house, it's the same damn thing.

03:08:08 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't like another person touching my, you know, things that touch me. I don't know if I... I get it.

03:08:15 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 2:

First off, if you're talking about underwear, the word borrow should never be used. Yes. There's no return. Nope.

03:08:21 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 1:

If you have a new pair in a package, would you give them a new pair and just say these are yours?

03:08:25 - 03:08:33 | Speaker 2:

I would be so mad that we're even having that conversation. In what world do you need new draws? Yeah. You got to be bold, too, to ask for that.

03:08:33 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 1:

Just free ball?

03:08:35 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 2:

That's when it's acceptable.

03:08:36 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Why did he need to take a shower? Was he coming from the gym? Was he super gross?

03:08:40 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 3:

We played golf, and it was actually a long day, and it was nice. It was hot and stuff. So he was going on a date afterwards, which, by the way, he would be a phenomenal guy for you, Megan. He would be.

03:08:55 - 03:08:58 | Speaker 2:

How's his conversation? His conversation is good. Well, he texted me back.

03:08:58 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 3:

Would you give him your underwear? Would you give up your underwear for this man?

03:09:02 - 03:09:05 | Speaker 2:

If he was into it, sir. Why didn't he go home?

03:09:06 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Because my house, so I live right by where we were golfing, and then he was going on a date with a girl. He lives in Birmingham. He was going on a date with a girl, and they were meeting in Northville. And so for those that don't know the areas because you could be listening who knows where in Grand Rapids, Toledo, or outside of the universe, he would be backtracking to go all the way over. So he's like, hey, can I just come over to your house and take a shower? Which, by the way, I made him use my son's bathroom that they have. Because I didn't even want him in my shower. Like, I don't even want him in my shower because who knows what he's doing in that shower, you know?

03:09:41 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Is your friend's name hilarious?

03:09:44 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Who is that?

03:09:44 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 2:

Is it?

03:09:46 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not Jeff Sackler.

03:09:47 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

03:09:48 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Jeff Sackler, no.

03:09:48 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't even understand all these things.

03:09:50 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 3:

His name is Mike. He's a guy. He's a guy. No, no. I love you, Jeff, by the way. And you don't know how much I love you. Jeff Sackler, by the way. I would let Jeff Sackler borrow.

03:10:00 - 03:10:34 | Speaker 2:

everything of mine he's yeah he's a very generous man i don't know but but i would get it although and i don't even know if jeff still has his balls i think he might have lost them in his divorce what was the guy gonna wear on the date um the he's had so he had a uh he had like shorts and things like that they were going some they're going to some place in uh in northville that had like a patio area yeah and he wanted to wear my he wanted to have the slides to wear because he wanted to be more lower key because all he had were, he had his golf shoes and his dress shoes. And he thought he would look like a dork wearing those.

03:10:34 - 03:10:37 | Speaker 8:

He's going to look like a dork wearing those oofuses.

03:10:37 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 2:

He's going to wear the same golf clothes that he just golfed in. No. No, he had clothes. He had changed clothes. He knew there was

03:10:43 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 3:

a date. And he only half prepared for it.

03:10:47 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 2:

Literally, can I tell you what he ended up doing? Because I wouldn't let him borrow either of them. He stopped off at 12 Oaks Mall and he just went and did some shopping because he realized and told or that he was going to be a little bit late. Joe, what do you think about this, Joe?

03:11:01 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 1:

So it's so funny that you bring that up because I actually have a friend that has a pool, and any time we go to his house and we need to either shower after or use the towels, his mom refuses to allow us to use any of the towels.

03:11:14 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't want any of our balls to have their towels,

03:11:17 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 1:

no matter what.

03:11:18 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 2:

I love that. You've got to let him use the towels.

03:11:21 - 03:11:22 | Speaker 7:

That's really funny.

03:11:23 - 03:11:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I like that your mom, that his mom is the one that doesn't want to, you know, she doesn't want to, even if she has to wash him, know that when she's wiping her face down, her son's friend's privates were on those. What's up, Dylan? How you doing? Dylan, start again. You're in a bad, you're in a bad, there you go. You're in a bad area now. So go ahead. Now I got you.

03:11:44 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 4:

My main question is, is who goes on a date and slides?

03:11:48 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's it. He thought about grabbing some of my gym shoes or something, like grabbing some of my hokas. But I don't lend my hokas to anybody. Honestly, you shouldn't be wearing another person's shoes anyway.

03:12:02 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 8:

I buy used shoes a lot, like from Poshmark. And you've always been so grossed out that I do that.

03:12:09 - 03:12:10 | Speaker 2:

I think it's bad.

03:12:10 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 8:

Like you asked me where I got shoes, I'm like, I don't know, Poshmark.

03:12:12 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 2:

It's not gross. Talk to a podiatrist, and a podiatrist would tell you that it's not.

03:12:16 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 8:

If I'm saving a lot of money, I'm still doing it.

03:12:18 - 03:12:27 | Speaker 2:

Because your foot, your feet are all different, and you're putting your foot into a shoe that got reshaped by your foot.

03:12:27 - 03:12:32 | Speaker 3:

You never put on somebody else's shoes, no matter what kind of shoe they are, and you can, like, feel where their feet are.

03:12:32 - 03:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's happening? Shelby. Hi, Shelby.

03:12:38 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

03:12:39 - 03:12:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on?

03:12:40 - 03:12:49 | Speaker 5:

So our best friend On mine and my husband's wedding day Our best friend borrowed my husband's underwear Because he forgot underwear for the next day

03:12:49 - 03:12:53 | Speaker 1:

When you say borrow He gave them back then?

03:12:53 - 03:12:56 | Speaker 5:

No, he still has them And he still wears them to this day

03:12:56 - 03:12:57 | Speaker 3:

That's funny

03:12:57 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 2:

You are practically married to him right now

03:13:02 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 3:

Basically Could you imagine if every time he wore them He sent you a picture

03:13:06 - 03:13:08 | Speaker 7:

Thanks bro

03:13:08 - 03:13:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Jody. What's going on?

03:13:10 - 03:13:11 | Speaker 3:

Hi, morning.

03:13:11 - 03:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Morning. What's happening?

03:13:12 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 2:

We're great. What's going on?

03:13:14 - 03:13:22 | Speaker 4:

So I heard I was listening to his thing. If he wanted them, even though it's roast, I would have just said keep them. If you take them, keep them to under air.

03:13:23 - 03:13:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, and that was. Yeah.

03:13:25 - 03:13:30 | Speaker 4:

I can't stand people who wear slides without socks. I think slides look so much better with socks. Is that a high squadra?

03:13:31 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:13:32 - 03:13:33 | Speaker 4:

Where are you? Are you in a horror film?

03:13:34 - 03:13:37 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of fun. Or a forest, an enchanted forest.

03:13:37 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, for one of the big three. what is that noise though someone has the line down oh we've had so many people call from plants that I've never heard that before thank you for the call what's up

03:14:08 - 03:14:09 | Speaker 2:

Brittany, hi.

03:14:10 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 6:

Hey, my friend borrowed my vibrator.

03:14:15 - 03:14:16 | Unknown:

What?

03:14:16 - 03:14:17 | Speaker 6:

Hold on.

03:14:17 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 2:

Just stop right there and let's take that all in.

03:14:20 - 03:14:40 | Speaker 6:

What? That's bad. That's bad. What? She apparently, like, I don't know, got in the mood, and I found out in the middle of the night, I heard a vibrating, and I told her in the morning, Hey, I don't know if you used it, but I heard you brush your teeth or something. Keep it.

03:14:42 - 03:14:48 | Speaker 7:

Why would you like that? Why would you like that? That's the most disgusting thing. Ice cream and shared vibrators.

03:14:49 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 2:

Look, first off, is it just out? Like, you didn't have it put up anywhere?

03:14:54 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 6:

No, so, like, it's in my, like, clothes drawer. She knew I had one.

03:15:00 - 03:15:07 | Speaker 1:

That's so gross That's like I would cut a friend off for this

03:15:07 - 03:15:08 | Speaker 2:

That's weird

03:15:08 - 03:15:08 | Speaker 1:

I would

03:15:08 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 2:

That is so weird

03:15:09 - 03:15:11 | Speaker 1:

I would be like You're never coming over To my house again

03:15:11 - 03:15:14 | Speaker 2:

You didn't use it again Like you gave it to her After that

03:15:14 - 03:15:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I gave it to her I told her I don't know I don't want to Embarrass her or anything But I just told her To keep it

03:15:21 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 2:

By the way Now I feel really petty About not letting my friend Yeah Rude By the way Jeff Zack Thank you. Jeff Sackley just texted me and he said, I just heard that on the air just a second ago. It's an irrational affair that Shannon has had for a long time, and it almost happened to her. It did. It did. Well, and thank God, nothing bad, right?

03:16:26 - 03:19:01 | Speaker 3:

I feel like we all have these fears that have been like ingrained in our brains since we were kids and this was one of them for me and I don't know if I saw it on a TV show or where I saw this but I vividly remember this seeing somebody riding down an escalator at the mall and getting their shoelace stuck in the end of the escalator and then like they I don't know they had they couldn't get it off and they had to have their foot amputated okay so this is just one of those core memories that I saw on TV and so to this day I jump over that little part at the end of it the escalator do you know what I'm talking about where it like rolls in I do the the hop I know I look like a huge weirdo at the mall or the airport or whatever when I do it I do it every single time and I think about that that TV show every single time still to this day. So at the airport over the weekend, my little almost seven year old Smith, he constantly has his dang shoelaces untied. And so I'm always reminding him Smith tire shoes, Smith tire shoes, Smith tire shoes. I mean, he doesn't listen. So I was unaware that one of his shoes was untied and I'm kind of up ahead of him. And all of a sudden, you know, those walking, uh, the moving walkways at the airport he we were on one of those we had all gotten off he was behind me i hear him start screaming bloody murder and crying i look back his little shoe he was stuck at the end of the moving walkway you guys the sheer panic that went through my body i was about to burst into tears then i start screaming and run over west runs over a bunch of strangers run over and it had gotten the shoelace caught in it so tightly that we couldn't even get his little shoe off because that's of course the first thing that you want to do right take the shoe so myself and someone else are yanking to get the shoelace out and we finally got it i mean it ate that dang shoelace oh my god but and somebody had come over as well to stop the moving walk or whatever but can you believe that that it was my irrational fear unlocked it happened thank god it he was was fine you know nothing happened to his foot but that's terrifying i've thought about that since i was a little kid and it happened to my kid of the elevator eating the escalator or escalator eating yes yeah yeah the uh your laces your foot whatever it's so stupid until it actually

03:19:01 - 03:19:16 | Speaker 2:

happened you need to get him those uh i see the commercials all the time those what is the shoe company that makes the the slip-on shoes that crocs mike tyson does commercials for i think You know, the old people's shoes. Skechers. Yes. The Skechers slip-ons.

03:19:17 - 03:19:20 | Speaker 3:

I had just bought him these shoes, too. He's so proud to have these shoes.

03:19:20 - 03:19:22 | Speaker 2:

He loves his Nikes, doesn't he?

03:19:22 - 03:19:38 | Speaker 1:

He loves his Nikes. Yeah. I have a fear, too. And mine came from watching Final Destination, too. Oh, yeah. And there are two things. They're on the freeway. And it's that log scene. Yes! But other than that, though, right before the log scene.

03:19:38 - 03:19:40 | Speaker 3:

Explain the log scene for people who haven't seen the movie.

03:19:40 - 03:20:36 | Speaker 1:

If you're driving down the freeway and you see an 18-wheeler, one of those long trucks that are chopping wood and they have like these long wooden logs that are literally like the size of trees. In the scene of the movie, I guess he hits his brake or something and the chain that's supposed to restrain these logs and keep them in place snaps. And the log literally flies off the truck, goes straight through the driver's window, and impales the person. So there's a fear there. But then there's also a fear that I think is more, I guess, readily available to take place. I'm a bottled water drinker. And there's also a scene where the bottle of water falls from wherever it is and gets stuck behind the woman's brake. So when she goes to press the brake, she can't because the bottle of water is there. And bottles of water have fallen. like they've fallen before under my seat and I'm just like oh my I freak out every single time like this could be it I'm gonna die like final destination too

03:20:36 - 03:20:48 | Speaker 2:

and the same as the logs whenever you drive by those car haulers that are bringing cars to dealerships you know what I'm talking about you always think that that car is gonna like come right off of the thing and they're always wiggly

03:20:48 - 03:20:50 | Speaker 3:

yes they're not on their good

03:20:50 - 03:20:55 | Speaker 2:

Casey you there yes I'm here what's your rational fear

03:20:55 - 03:22:20 | Speaker 3:

okay so shannon i wanted to tell you i know what you're talking about that's from rescue 911 years ago um i've seen that same thing and my fear is rational with um escalators too but my fear is you know when you have a dream and you're like stuck on a bridge or the bridge is going up and your car is stuck on it yes well oh my god you guys i i have that fear and it's so weird because that bridge just collapsed you know yeah and now um this past weekend we were at cedar point and it was opening day my daughter wanted to ride the rougarou and like it was one of the only rides that was open so we go we get right on and for some reason i'm waiting in line i'm like you guys like i'm panicking and i don't panic we get on the damn thing we're almost completely to the top of that first hill and it just stops like it just quit oh the fear of them roller coasters stopping no are we gonna fall back like are we is it just gonna start and like our things are gonna unbuckle like what is going on are we all gonna die my kids were tripping i'm a mama triplet and my kids were triplet tripping my husband was laughing at us i'm like dude this is not cool it was one of my biggest fears yeah well after about 10 minutes thinking we're all gonna die the ride just shoots forward and like plunges us into the ride and i was like oh my god thank god We made it safe, but it was so scary.

03:22:20 - 03:22:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that is very scary. I know you hear the stories like they have to have the police and fire department come in and rescue you. We're talking about Shannon's son's shoelace getting trapped in the moving walkway escalator at the airport. Brooke, what happened?

03:22:40 - 03:22:51 | Speaker 5:

So I was traveling alone with my three children. I had a six-month-old, a two-month-old, and a five-month-old. and we were going on the people mover, not the escalator, but the people mover.

03:22:51 - 03:22:53 | Speaker 2:

You mean, yeah, that little train thing at the airport?

03:22:55 - 03:22:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, the escalator that's just flat.

03:22:57 - 03:23:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You know? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's what Shannon's son was on, too. Yeah. Yes. The same thing. The moving walkway. Yeah.

03:23:04 - 03:23:38 | Speaker 5:

And my son was pooped, so he popped down on his butt to ride it, and we're getting near the end, and I'm carrying the two other babies, and I'm like, get up, get up, get up, and he rode it out, and it caught the end of his shorts. sucked him in there and i'm the same way i tossed my baby girls down and i'm yanking my son out of that thing it scraped down the back of his leg he's screaming bloody murder but we got him out and it was exhausting and scary and the babies the girls were crying and it was a hot mess did

03:23:38 - 03:23:51 | Speaker 2:

it rip his like pants off or did it what did it do yes well i had to pull him out of his pants Really? So the kids, so were his pants still stuck inside of that little escalator thing? Yeah. Wow.

03:23:51 - 03:23:54 | Speaker 5:

His little Superman vendors, I'm sure.

03:23:55 - 03:23:58 | Speaker 2:

And then everybody's looking at you like, you're that mom.

03:23:59 - 03:24:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was that mom.

03:24:00 - 03:24:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:24:00 - 03:24:18 | Speaker 5:

But what's crazy is Kevin mentioned the bottle under the brake pedal. Yeah. About three months later, one of my daughter's bottles rolled under my brake pedal, and I was approaching a light, and I couldn't get it stopped. And I rear-ended one of my husband's trend vehicles.

03:24:19 - 03:24:20 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how did that feel?

03:24:21 - 03:24:22 | Speaker 5:

Super embarrassing.

03:24:23 - 03:24:26 | Speaker 2:

I bet, yeah. DeVita, what's happening?

03:24:27 - 03:24:28 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you guys?

03:24:28 - 03:24:29 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's going on?

03:24:30 - 03:25:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I had a similar story to what Shannon went through. I was shopping at Fairlane Mall, and my shoelace got stuck in the escalator. And I screamed bloody murder in the escalator. and lined up the fire department had to get me out of the escalator because it had such a death grip on my foot it was twisting my foot around yes and it ate the front of my shoe yeah the fire department had to get me out and my i was shopping with my dad and my sister at the time and my dad was so embarrassed he did not go on that mall for years

03:25:06 - 03:25:15 | Speaker 1:

oh gosh that's the thing like you think the first thing you should do is take off your shoe but you can't because it has pulled the lace in so tightly that you can't get your shoe off right and your

03:25:15 - 03:25:23 | Speaker 4:

foot is twisted so it's very uncomfortable but when you guys are talking about the shoes it's Skechers, they have the flip-in shoes.

03:25:23 - 03:25:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the same. Right. Mike Tyson says, Skechers. I use them all the time. They hired him just to have him say Skechers.

03:25:31 - 03:25:32 | Speaker 2:

He's not wearing Skechers.

03:25:32 - 03:25:33 | Speaker 5:

Skechers.

03:25:33 - 03:25:35 | Speaker 4:

Skechers. He's not wearing Skechers.

03:25:35 - 03:25:36 | Speaker 5:

He's the Skechers.

03:25:36 - 03:25:38 | Speaker 4:

I want to hear him say Rice Krispie Treats.

03:25:39 - 03:25:40 | Speaker 1:

He can move in Skechers.

03:25:42 - 03:25:46 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever have a fear of a car wash? Sydney, what happened to you in the car wash?

03:25:47 - 03:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so this was Monday after I got out of it. nine hour work day um i live in it's laney so i went to automatic car wash with my three kids and as we're leaving i'm you know going back into drive and um somehow my car instead of going back i accidentally put it into park and their car wash sucked me back and as i'm trying to like go back into neutral as it's gearing down into um going back down it gets stuck in reverse 2021 jeep compass so i'm stuck in reverse my shifter is frozen it's not functioning so i'm stuck in the car wash for about an hour and there's like a line of dudes helping me trying to rescue me out of the car wash and then i'm like my shifter was still stuck in reverse so i literally like had to let my car like die and they had to go to the shop because i couldn't i could never turn my car off and get it back into park because something wonky happened with my shifter and it just stopped working oh my god that's scary i had to like yeah i had to like watch a youtube video in order to like figure out how to release the shifter and that only got it to go to neutral or

03:27:06 - 03:27:19 | Speaker 5:

drive it never went back to park i bet you that didn't do great for your cars getting cleaned oh my gosh what wait hold on hold hold on one sec uh somebody which one do i grab here tina tina's

03:27:19 - 03:28:08 | Speaker 4:

hair where did it get stuck tina so there was like this um space uh trampoline thing like park in the mall yeah and we were out shopping for my graduation gift and i grew up in a religion that i was not allowed to cut my hair so my hair was almost down like past my bottom and um i went on this space like it made you do like upside down and side to side and you were supposed to feel like you were in space well my hair got caught in the mechanism and it got caught so tight i was screaming they finally got the machine to stop but it was so tight they had to cut my hair oh let me down and at the time i was freaking out i thought i was going to be scalped before my graduation oh

03:28:08 - 03:28:16 | Speaker 5:

my god jeez it was the scariest thing ever wow that's that's awful your hair gets stuck in the

03:28:16 - 03:28:25 | Speaker 2:

thing do you remember the cabbage patch dolls that used to eat little girls hair is that what it was yeah there was a huge recall one christmas yeah it's like the number one christmas toy sold

03:28:25 - 03:28:38 | Speaker 5:

that year for little girls yeah oh um and last but not least we were talking about getting stuck on those escalators jeff what got stuck on an escalator oh man uh well good morning morning

03:28:38 - 03:29:18 | Speaker 6:

i was at elder beerman's in sandusky mall and i had five older brothers so i was just riding up and down the escalator and an older lady um fell and i was on the bottom you know and she fell and when she fell on me uh she pinned me down on it and obviously you got to the end of the escalator This was a stair escalator, so she fell down, hit me. She landed on top of me, and, you know, I was nine. She was an older lady, and she got stuck. I mean, we got wedged at the bottom, and I had that whole escalator, them stripes, burn into my face. Oh, my God. Yeah.

03:29:18 - 03:29:21 | Speaker 1:

So you were pinned face down at the bottom of that thing.

03:29:21 - 03:29:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because I was going down it, and she was behind me going down the escalator, You know, it was from level two to level one, and she fell on Tommy, and it felt so hard. Oh, my God.

03:29:31 - 03:29:31 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

03:29:31 - 03:29:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

03:29:32 - 03:29:34 | Speaker 5:

It's like face-off right there.

03:29:34 - 03:29:44 | Speaker 6:

And it was. It was one side, and it took a while to go away, but, I mean, I was dying. It was cool. I thought I was tight Rambo. I don't know. You know what I mean? Yeah.

03:29:44 - 03:29:49 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what was cool? The cool part that the lady was laying on you, or what was it?

03:29:50 - 03:29:56 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, no. I was not. I was more worried about, oh, look at me. I got war wounds, and I had five older brothers before.

03:29:56 - 03:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's amazing. Wow.

03:30:00 - 03:30:16 | Speaker 3:

She came screaming, you know, trying to get all five of my other brothers, and I'm the youngest one with some old lady laying that down. That's unbelievable. All right, thank you for the call. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
