00:03:50 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it is great to have you here with us got a good show for you second date updates coming up this morning shannon's got a lot of dirty from the weekend there's a lot of stuff that went on i felt like i was the only person that wasn't wearing a hat on saturday night somebody needs to explain to me what is the obsession with people who aren't at the kentucky derby pretending that they're at the kentucky derby so is that but and it has to be by the way it has to be like uh to me like a rich people thing because i i swear to you i don't know i just don't think that uh you go out and just buy a hat that you're never gonna wear again but we'll talk about thrive in the kentucky derby oh really i would oh yeah not because i'm rich but because all i do is wear hats oh there you go that's true but different kinds of hats mike i know you wear hats

00:05:00 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 4:

Big hats, like big, big crazy hats. And then the guys, well, I guess you do kind of have like every now and again you throw on like a fun little thing. You don a nice hat. A fancy hat. Yeah, the fancy hats. Like the one that you wore at your wedding was a fancy hat. Yeah. Actually, welcome back to Mike after a vacation with his family where he road tripped. We got to talk this morning about that. I want to find out what you guys ended up doing for your mode of transportation, because everybody wants to know about that. Did you did you find a car to get down there with? So we'll get into that this morning. But you actually didn't even realize that Kentucky Derby was going on. And what did you do on your way back home?

00:05:43 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

So on the way back home, we stopped in Louisville. Like, I think it was it was Cinco de Mayo night into Saturday. And we get to this hotel and it wasn't like the nicest of nice hotels. I didn't realize why all the hotels were so expensive that night. I was like, oh, maybe it's Cinco de Mayo. I have no idea. But they were crazy expensive. So we had to find, like, a deal, and we get this hotel, and we show up. And we don't get there until probably, I don't know, probably, like, midnight, 1 o'clock. We decide we're just going to sleep there and then drive the rest of the way back in the morning. And we get there, and there's people running around in, like, these giant hats and, like, bright, colorful suits. And I'm like, what is – this is a joke, right? Otherwise, some weird stuff's happening right now. And we get there, and this guy's like, sorry, somebody's already in your room. And I'm like, no, no, no, we haven't checked in yet. And he's like, no, you checked in at 9.14. Somebody's already there. You're going to want to go knock on the door and figure that out. And I go, what? No, no. And I got two kids, and both kids are in our arms. They're asleep. And we're like, no, I just need a room so we can get in and go to sleep. And he goes, I'm sorry, you already checked in. So we all go up there. the manager and go up and i go up there we knock on the door nobody answers he's like i don't know what to tell you somebody's in your room already so you're gonna have to either buy another room or figure something out buy another room if you pay for a room you get a room don't you they said i checked in already and i'm like no i was i was like no i'm like do i and i started at this point i'm like do i need to get a big hat and show you like what do i need to do to show you that this is not and he's like i'm sorry i don't know what i was like where's my id he's like oh we didn't scan that for them i'm like you didn't scan their id at all i was like you didn't do anything he goes no you paid online so we just assumed you were all set and i said what and so that's when my my wife gets a little bit loud the kids wake up they're like starting to get upset because it's one o'clock in the morning and we're in the middle of a hotel and nobody has any idea what's going on this manager was also sleeping upstairs in one of the rooms it was the wildest experience

00:07:50 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 4:

this obviously obviously was not like a uh a reputable hotel or something or was it like a

00:07:56 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 3:

little run of those little roadside uh it was a little it was a little step up from a roadside okay but you know like how you have your certain hotels that you like we went uh away from that hotel and went a little bit a little bit cheaper you're just you're just stopping on the right on the ride in right yeah we weren't gonna we didn't think about like a pool or anything like that it was just a place to sleep yeah and they were all very expensive because of the kentucky derby so they end up getting us a room but at this point we're like lock the doors i don't know

00:08:26 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

like if some people could just walk in the room and put a chair in front of it so yeah has that

00:08:31 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 4:

ever happened anybody where they had somebody like in their room or walk in their room if they've

00:08:35 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

ever had i walked into somebody's room in las vegas that's terrifying your key card worked The key card worked in everything, and we walked in. I was married at the time. We walked into the room, and there was somebody's stuff all over the place, a suitcase on the bed that was open. The bathroom was filled with stuff. Thank God somebody wasn't in there. Yeah. But we had to go all the way back down to the front desk and say, you gave us a room that somebody's already in.

00:09:00 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 1:

And then you don't trust your stay for the rest of the time that you're there because you're like, that could happen to me.

00:09:05 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like Mike locking the door. You know what the funniest thing is? that I would do exactly what Mike did. I would just plan my drive home, say, all right, we're driving through Louisville, Kentucky, not realizing the biggest event in Louisville, Kentucky is happening that weekend, the Kentucky Derby. And every person in the world is there wearing, like, fancy clothes. Although this place seems like the type of place that wouldn't have a lot of Kentucky Derby-ers at it.

00:09:35 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, I just choked on spirit. Are you okay? so we wake up the next morning and it what you're right there wasn't there was a lot of people going to the kentucky derby but i think because of the room prices this is where kind of people kind of went to because they didn't want to pay those super expensive prices downtown we wake up the next morning for the uh the continental breakfast and everybody's dressed up and i'm like what is happening

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 4:

right now and then the news was on and i see the the coronation and i'm like is it that that's what everybody's dressed up for is the coronation or whatever and then the kentucky derby commercials start coming on and it starts clicking and i'm like oh my god everybody's here for the kentucky

00:10:15 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 3:

derby that is so funny to only go there you know what's a wild is that i booked one time going to vegas on what was the busiest weekend of the entire year and some people may think it's that electronic show it's not it's the adult film convention weekend oh hell yeah it's the porn weekend and i didn't realize you know when i was booking and it was we always would do it at the same time it was me and my buddy johnny dare and then norm our our uh old agent and we would go that same weekend all the time not realizing that it was the porn convention and we walk and we uh well first off we land at the airport and i get off the plane and i'm like holy crap i know that There's always beautiful women all over the place I didn't realize there's beautiful women And they're not wearing Let's put it this way They don't wear anything in their porns They don't wear anything when they're not in their porn too They were scantily clad And Norm was probably loving it It was more scantily than clad Actually, Johnny Dare knew everybody But it was funny because We Had no idea that it was going on That particular weekend Like you didn't with the race and uh and then what it ends up happening is you can't get anywhere you can't you know like you said the rooms are tough to get and here's somebody in your room that's craziness that's wild so um everything besides that though went well and i know that uh you guys did the road trip and uh we'll talk i'm sure after eight o'clock about uh what your mode of transportation was because it was interesting but um ali as a pregnant almost about ready to give birth mom She did okay?

00:11:55 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

On the way there, yes. She kept pushing to go farther in the road trip, so we ended up getting there about six to 12 hours. I don't remember exactly how many hours. Earlier than we expected, but on the way back, it was rough because in this week, I mean, she's a month now, probably between three weeks and a month from giving birth, so it's shifted from the time we left to the time we drove back of how uncomfortable she got. So on the way back, especially in that Kentucky Derby hotel, she was not. She was done with it. Yeah.

00:12:27 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 3:

No more road trips for her.

00:12:28 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 2:

This is when baby starts to move and drops. Can you imagine? That's so exciting. I mean, you're going to, oh my gosh.

00:12:36 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 3:

Can you imagine if they gave birth at the Kentucky Derby? And they would have to name.

00:12:41 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 2:

You'd have to have like a very southern.

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

They'd have to name it after one of the horses. Who was the winner of the Kentucky Derby?

00:12:46 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how you say it. M-A-G-E. I didn't watch. I don't know how they pronounce it. M-A-G-E. Madge. Madge.

00:12:52 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 3:

Madge. Oh, my God, that would be a name. There you go. You got your girl's name, Madge. Baby Madge. If that's the name. Yeah, well, I would think that the road trip would cause for the baby to kind of stir up and say, all right, enough.

00:13:06 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 2:

Get me out of here.

00:13:07 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 3:

Because nobody wants to be on a road trip that long of a road trip. Mike, everything go okay with you and the in-laws? You predicted that there possibly could be an in-law fight.

00:13:20 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 4:

There was. There really? Yeah, yeah. A little one. Were you involved? No, no. At those, I keep quiet because it's not my family. So I kind of stepped back. But it was during those family photo shoots. So we all took a picture of our families and our blended families. And I don't know exactly what happened because I wasn't paying attention. I was chasing my own kids around trying to get them to smile and stand in one spot, which is a challenge in itself. But next thing I know, you see two people yelling. It's the father-in-law and one of the brother-in-laws, and they're yelling. I have no idea what they're yelling about. And Allie's mom is going, you guys are being childish. You guys are being childish. And everybody just turns and looks. And I had to then grab my kids, because I don't want them in the middle of that, and shift them in a different direction. And I know it had something to do with everybody posing and standing still and babies crying. It was just a whole thing. But that's the only drama that I witnessed.

00:14:19 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 3:

Aren't you glad that you're the favorite now? They love you. You're about to give them another grandchild, and you didn't cause a fight on the family vacation.

00:14:27 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I just kept my mouth shut.

00:14:28 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 3:

Brent, what's up?

00:14:30 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey. Yeah, I was actually calling in about the room stays. My family and I, we went up to a resort. I'm not going to name the resort just because I don't want to bash them. But we got our room keys. We got there 3 o'clock because we're checked in. We were there about 4.30, waiting around for our rooms forever. They gave us room keys. We go to walk into the room, and all of a sudden, we see candles lit up in the room.

00:14:58 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

00:15:00 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 2:

keys and all that setting up fortunately no one was in the room but we're like yep obviously someone else is already in this room really go down to the front desk and they were like oh yeah no we just gave out a master key to everyone i'm like uh they gave hold on a second they gave a master key and yeah because apparently everyone they're having uh issues with their card system working so they're just giving out a master key to everyone so were you in the right room or did you guys go to the wrong room number no we were we were in our room that they told us to go into but the other people went to the wrong room no they were in their in their room too they just

00:15:38 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 7:

like double booked all the rooms oh no oh my god wait were the candles for like a little sexy time

00:15:44 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

or what was the candle that's what we're guessing we're guessing they were like on a little honeymoon kind of thing and we're like uh yep we need to get out of here how soon how soon did you like

00:15:55 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 7:

turn and leave there, or did you go explore to see if you could see something more?

00:15:59 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 2:

We didn't explore. We're like, yeah, we're not going to go around and explore.

00:16:04 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. I'd peek around for a minute. I'd look. The only problem, though, is sometimes you see something that you can never take back in your mind. And then what ends up happening is you see them the entire time that you're there on vacation. Yep. You run into them at the buffet. Always. It turns out to be a nightmare. All right, thank you for the call, Brent. We appreciate it.

00:16:25 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:31 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd debuted their relationship. I completely forgot that those guys had one.

00:16:40 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and it's almost, we're talking, obviously she's referred to The Weeknd, but we, there's a, Abel, sorry.

00:16:47 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't think she calls him The Weeknd.

00:16:49 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 6:

I call him The Weeknd.

00:16:51 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 7:

Do you remember when there was a rumor that Drake had a baby, had a son, and then he had to do DNA testing to prove that it really was his?

00:17:00 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, if you see my boy, you'll understand. Like, you know, at the time, I was like, I mean, he's just, he's, I mean, he's just a stunning child, you know, with the brightest blue eyes. And at the time, I was like, I don't know. But, you know, it wasn't until, it actually wasn't until a week before the album came out that I got confirmation that that was definitely my son. It took me two more solid tests with two different companies.

00:17:20 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, the baby was with model Sophia Brousseau. And the big song, Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello's Bad Things.

00:17:30 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 1:

I can't explain it.

00:17:32 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 7:

Why can't I say it's complicated?

00:17:34 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 3:

What year was this? Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

It was the year that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd were dating.

00:17:58 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and it's almost, we're talking, obviously she's referred to The Weeknd, but we, there's a, Abel, sorry.

00:18:04 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't think she calls him The Weeknd.

00:18:06 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 6:

I call him The Weeknd.

00:18:10 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 7:

Drake and model Sophia Brousseau, they had a little dispute over whether or not Drake was the father of her son.

00:18:19 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 4:

yeah no if you see my boy you'll understand like you know at the time i was like hi i mean he's just he's i mean he's just a stunning child you know the brightest blue eyes and at the time i was like i don't know but you know it wasn't till it actually wasn't until a week before the album came out that i got confirmation that that was definitely my son it took me two more solid tests

00:18:38 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 7:

with two different companies and the big song bad things it's a good song i haven't heard this one one in a while. Katie, what year was that? It was

00:18:48 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 2:

00:18:52 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 3:

00:19:51 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:53 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 7:

Get you caught up on what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. Did you wake up extra early on Saturday morning?

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 4:

watch the coronation? Well, I was

00:20:02 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 6:

up extra early to go to a track meet in Saginaw for my future stepdaughter. So I was watching the coronation on my phone and I kept having to tell Wes and Samantha is her name. I swear I'm not just playing around on Instagram. I'm actually working right now. I'm trying to keep up with everything that's going on. Did you watch Megan? So I was getting it in bits and pieces. Of course I did. This was my Super Bowl. Yes. Yeah. Well, yeah. King Charles III and Queen Camilla were crowned at Westminster Abbey in London

00:20:31 - 00:20:43 | Speaker 3:

on Saturday. The coronation oath has stood for centuries and is enshrined in law. Are you willing to take the oath? I am willing. I am willing. During

00:20:43 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 6:

the 90-minute coronation service, the king signed a royal oath to serve the British people as the St. Edward's crown was placed on his head, and then Camilla was crowned with Queen Mary's crown. Following the coronation, the king and queen, they left Westminster Abbey to take part in the coronation procession in which they headed back to Buckingham Palace. They got on the balcony with the rest of the family, minus Harry and Meghan, to wave to the crowd. There were fireworks. I mean, you know how this goes. Harry, by the way, I did want to mention this, sat three rows back inside of Westminster Abbey during the ceremony. Just trying to smile, but kind of looking awkward all at the same time. The coronation expected to cost about $125 million, by the way, at a time when a lot of Brits are struggling with inflation. They're struggling to make ends meet. So a lot of people are kind of like clenching their jaw when they hear how much money this thing costs.

00:21:43 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 4:

I hate to say this, but we do the same thing, too, when we do our inaugurations of the president.

00:21:47 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 5:

You're allowed to say that this is frivolous spending when we have more important things to worry about. It's all frivolous spending. Yeah.

00:21:54 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 4:

I agree.

00:21:54 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 5:

They're getting called out for it.

00:21:56 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 4:

But they say they make more money off of it than it actually costs and the money goes right back into it. I don't know if that's the case, but maybe they sell a lot of Charles t-shirts or something.

00:22:05 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 6:

And then yesterday, there was that big coronation concert that was broadcast live from Windsor Castle featuring Katy Perry, Lionel Richie. Even Tom Cruise made an appearance from the cockpit of an airplane.

00:22:19 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 2:

Did you know his majesty was the longest serving Prince of Wales for over 64 years? During that time, the king has developed a host of action man skills. At 22 years old, his majesty got his wings as a fully trained RAF pilot.

00:22:37 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 4:

Pilot to pilot, your majesty, you can be my wingman anytime. Oh, my God. Oh, Lord. Oh, my God. He is never going to let this Top Gun thing go down.

00:22:47 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 5:

Play that just for you, Megan. And I got to tell you, my two least favorite people there, Tom Cruise and King Charles. Good Lord. My favorite part about this coronation is that barely any Brits participated. That should tell you everything you want to know.

00:23:01 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 4:

You know what's interesting, too, is it's interesting to see every Brit stayed away from it because they don't like the Charles thing. So they don't want to do any of that stuff. And then the Harry thing They say that Harry did fly commercial I was shocked to hear that How do you get in and out of there So fast commercially

00:23:21 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah well he The coronation was over And he was on his way to Heathrow Like so fast

00:23:27 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 5:

I also love the fact that he was smiling Manically the entire time Because he knew if he wasn't And anybody got a photograph of him looking Just even plain faced The headlines So he sat there and smiled the entire time, no matter what happened, so that the news couldn't post any pictures of him being miserable there.

00:23:46 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 6:

James Harden's friendship with a young man by the name of John Hayo, paralyzed Michigan State suiting survivor. They developed this long-distance friendship via FaceTime, was strengthened even further yesterday during an epic NBA playoff game. An overtime three-pointer from James Harden propelled the 76ers to a one-point victory over the Celtics, leveling the Eastern Conference Series at 2-2. And the atmosphere at the Wells Fargo Center was just nuts. Pretty much everybody inside was going crazy for Harden. But there was one person that the man of the moment wanted to see, and it was Spartan Don. And after the game, James Harden gifted his Suze to his new friends.

00:24:32 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

He's my good luck charm. Just me keeping in contact with him. Obviously, like any of us in here, it's a tragedy like that to happen. You know what I mean? It's like, it's a lot of nonsense that's going on in the world. So for him to be, you know, a victim of that is, it's heartbreaking. You know what I mean? But he's strong. He's bouncing back. He's recovering very well. And I feel like it's my job just to give him that light, that smile that he deserves, that he needs. And hopefully, you know, today was one of those days where, you know what I mean?

00:25:00 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 4:

He's smiling, and that's all I'm here for. That's a very cool moment. That's awesome. Taylor Swift announcing at her Nashville show on Friday night that the next album she is re-recording is her third record, Speak Now. She did a shortened version of this song and then played a video on stage. That Speak Now will be released on July 7th to go along with the news. She then performed an acoustic version of Sparks Fly. The re-recorded version of Speak Now, by the way, They will also include six new songs for all of you Swifties. And we'll get into this next hour. Yes, her rumored new boyfriend, Maddie Healy, from the 1975, was with her in Nashville this weekend. Yes, he got up on stage and performed. There's more to that story. And yes, they went back to her Nashville condo afterward. I saw that he was spotted at a Nashville Starbucks. And people were out of their mind about that. And lastly, a Texas high school student sent six of his fellow students to the hospital after releasing fart spray inside of the building.

00:26:12 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 5:

Was this like a senior prank or something?

00:26:14 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 4:

The school was evacuated after people started noticing the smell. First responders with gas detection equipment couldn't find any gas leaks, like legitimate gas leaks. So the students were sent back inside the next day. Students back inside the school despite the odor. But that day, six students got really bad headaches, like so bad from the smell. They weren't sent to the hospital. So the school was shut down for the remainder of last week because of that smell. I don't know if it was a senior prank or not.

00:26:46 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 5:

Somebody would do that always during assemblies. And it smells like rotten eggs

00:26:50 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 4:

They would do stick bombs at our school Yeah, but isn't this a spray that the military uses?

00:26:55 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 5:

Is it like a pepper spray or something?

00:26:57 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 4:

I don't know

00:26:57 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 3:

It's so bad, people vomit and stuff It's intentionally really bad

00:27:02 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 4:

So I have some in my home that actually I threw away Smith doesn't know this weekend That was purchased from Five Below, parents be aware And it smells pretty bad But I think this had to be a step up from that To send kids to the hospital, you know?

00:27:16 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's not good

00:27:17 - 00:27:20 | Speaker 4:

And she is a total character, actually a big fan of the Mojo in the Morning Show. And she told me that I got to shout out Cassidy over the fact that she is the lead singer of the Square Pegs. Yes. Is that right?

00:28:56 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 3:

What kind of music? That's correct. It's an 80s tribute. So, actually, we played, I don't remember if it was 2018 or 19, but we played the Mojo's Halloween party. I remember you guys. Oh, wishy.

00:29:06 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you guys were excellent. Yeah, over at the Royal Oak Music Theater. That was our Stranger Things party.

00:29:12 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yes. Yeah, we were all, it was 80s, so we were all, you know, on brand, and it was a good time. Oh, that's great.

00:29:19 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's nice to have you on here with us. Aiden, I'm showing no favoritism because her mother-in-law did not give me a discount yesterday at Nordstrom, so I'm locking you up in a soundproof area. Aiden, good luck to you. We will start with Cassidy, the lead singer of the Square Pegs, and the school librarian here. Question number one in the five of 655, the coronation of King Charles took place on Saturday. What are the colors of the United Kingdom flag? Hint, there are three.

00:29:49 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 3:

Red, white, and blue.

00:29:51 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Question number two, speaking of the coronation, true or false, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did attend the festivities for King Charles.

00:30:00 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 1:

False, Jeff Carey. Question number three, a judge found Ed Sheeran not liable of copying this famous Marvin Gaye song for his song, Thinking Out Loud. Name the song. Let's get it on. Question number four, rumor has it that Amber Heard moved to Spain in the wake of her defamation trial against her ex, Johnny Depp. During the trial, what was the word that Johnny Depp used to describe a poop? oh i don't remember it's escaping me i'll pass and question you're you know why you're passing because you're a lady that's why you're passing because you don't remember things like that and uh question uh number five lebron james son brawny committed to the university of southern california to play basketball what team does lebron currently play for okay i'm this i gotta pass this is so embarrassing really just throw a name out the team three seconds the lakers i literally have no idea let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area cassidy you got four out of five correct wow no way yes yeah she guessed say anything she guessed the last one aiden and got it right aiden you got to be four out of five you can do this okay okay okay question number one the coronation of king charles took place on saturday what are the colors of the united kingdom's flag hint there are three red white and blue correct one to one question number two speaking of the coronation true or false prince harry and megan markle did attend the festivities for king charles oh correct two to two megan was not there Question number three, a judge found Ed Sheeran not liable of copying this famous Marvin Gaye song for his song, Thinking Out Loud. Name the song. Let's get it on. Correct. Three to three. He's got to miss these next two questions here, Cassidy. Question number four, Cassidy passed on this one. Rumor has it that Amber Heard has moved to Spain in the wake of her defamation trial against her ex, Johnny Depp. During the trial, what was the word that Johnny Depp used to describe a poop? A grumpy. Correct answer, yes. I thought that some human being had actually dropped a grumpy. Yes. And question number five for a clean win, perfect score. LeBron Jameson, Bronny, has committed to USC to play basketball. What team does LeBron currently play for? The LA Lakers. Correct answer. He has just won his eighth in a row. Final score, five to four. Congratulations to you.

00:33:00 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Just won your eighth in a row, Aiden. He's very good. You know what's wild about this now is that you go to school and then everybody's going to say that a high schooler beat you. Oh, no. I was like, I am never going to let this down with these kids. You know what, though? Hey, listen, Aiden's on top of things, and he's also very smart. You got a scholarship to college, right, Aiden? Yeah. You really didn't run for my money today. Yeah, she was good, wasn't she? Aiden's scholarship is the official 5 at 655 scholarship. We should come up with something like that. If we gave a scholarship to college, it should be like the War of the Roses scholarship. You know what I mean? Think of like the – or six-on-sex scholarship. No, no, no. Do a mad time. What parent would take on that scholarship? I mean, I would if I didn't have to pay some money for my kids' school. Congrats to you. Also, this is a good one. You can give this to your mother-in-law if you want to, Cassidy. You can give her something nice at Kroger. Everybody that loses this week as a parting gift gets a $50 gift card to Kroger plus a free bouquet of flowers just in time for Mother's Day. Tell Kathy I said hi, okay? I will for sure. Thank you guys so much. Have a good day. It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 is 6.55. Mojo in the Morning. So I did go to the mall yesterday. And I ended up going because I had like a few things that I got to get prepared for. One is I realized that I was getting Luke prepared for his prom and his graduation. And I have nothing for that. so I was like doing a little shopping trying to grab some stuff and then I said oh you know what I'm going to give myself another pair of jeans since I wear the same jeans every single day and it's about ready to work through the crotch you know it's time you know it's time when you kind of

00:35:00 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 2:

look down and you see that there's getting soft in that area. There's a very good chance that you're going to go home with your underwear showing or something else. Who knows? So this jean store that I went to yesterday might possibly be the worst jean store dressing room ever or dressing room period. The dressing room was right next to the entrance to the store, Like literally right there next to the entrance. Like the first thing you do is you, you know, go into the dressing room, you look out and you see people just like walking by and the Apple store is right across the way. Okay. So you know this, if the Apple store is right across the way, there's people always out in front that are waiting for their appointments or waiting for, you know, to get in. I mean, it's craziness. So I wanted to try on a pair of jeans and I go into the dressing room and mind you, the other thing that irritates me about this particular store is the dressing room doors are not doors. They are like drapery. Oh yeah. Okay. So you first off can't figure out how to get in. And secondly, you can't figure out how to completely close it so that nobody can look inside of the thing. There's always a slit on one side, especially, right? Yes. And that slit, I didn't realize until My pants were completely around my ankles. And here's the topic, by the way. I want you to come call up and tell us, who saw you naked that shouldn't have seen you naked? All right? I want you to tell us that story, the embarrassment of that. Who saw you naked that shouldn't have seen you naked? Allie. You know what? She probably feels that way. She'll call in here in just a little bit that she saw you. But no, I am in there, and the thing is starting to open up as I am in my underwear. So I'm in my boxer briefs, and there are, like, people, teenage kids and people walking by with families and strollers and guys, you know, that look like they, you know, are much better looking than I am. Well, the kids are notorious for trying to peek in those things, too. Oh, like, yeah, like little kids?

00:37:11 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah.

00:37:12 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Even if their parent is not in it, right? They, like, just sit there and try to look in all the other ones? Yes, because they try to hide in them. Your kids do that? Do Milo and Cecily ever do that?

00:37:21 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 3:

They do it at, like, the Targets in the Myers, like in the clothes sections. They'll hide in that middle part.

00:37:26 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 2:

At least the Targets in the Myers, though, they have a door, right? Well, I'm talking just when the clothes are in those circular racks, in the center of those racks.

00:37:35 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:37:36 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, this is actually the dressing room. Like, dressing rooms should be in the back of the store, and they should be with a door. I don't even care if the door has, like, the little, you know, kind of slits through it. Yeah. You really can't necessarily see in there what's going on. So this happens to me. I try on two pair of jeans. First time that it opens up, it opens up almost completely because somebody bumps up against it and opens the thing up, and people are seeing me in my underwear. Then I put on a pair of very, very tight jeans. For some reason, I thought that I could size down, and I thought, oh, I lost a little bit of weight over it in the sober October and dry January. and I thought oh I bet you I fit into you know this size now yeah wishful thinking I didn't fit into that and let me just say this to you I basically cut off the circulation to my thighs my ass and my balls at that particular time because I had the pants on so tight that I couldn't get them off and I am trying to pull these things off and I look as I'm pulling them off making sure i don't rip these jeans and making sure that i don't like fall because you know how sometimes you kind of lose balance yes and i look and there's a lady standing right outside the thing with like three kids and she's just standing there like looking right at me like what's like i looked i felt like an the elephant in the zoo i felt like i was being if you saw

00:39:04 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 1:

looked at put her hands over her children's eyes that would have been the ultimate embarrassment

00:39:09 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Honestly, she should have. She was in. She had her mouth dropped like she had it literally out at that time.

00:39:17 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever been Megan? Have you ever been to a store that has the communal changing rooms? No, I don't. I'm trying to think if there's one around anymore, but there used to be a store. Actually, it was right over here by the radio station on Orchard Lake Road and it was called Loman's. And it was like a TJ Maxx, like a TJ Maxx Nordstrom Rack type of store. And their dressing rooms were communal I think you did have the option I think they did have like two dressing rooms with doors But if you went in there, there were mirrors all the way around And there was like a bench all the way around And there were like hooks everywhere And you could just hook your clothes on the hooks And try them on But everybody was in there changing with you No, who thought that was a good idea? I don't know I don't think that store is here anymore

00:39:58 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 2:

We went to a communal I don't know. bathroom one time. Remember that at that bar in Arizona? It had literally the men's and the women's bathrooms right there with each other. You remember that at all? Well, probably not. No, that was a trip. But that was one where you're washing your hands and you can hear the women washing their hands at the place right next door. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who saw you naked that shouldn't have? Dawn, how you doing?

00:40:29 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. How are you doing this morning?

00:40:31 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 2:

We're doing all right, Dawn. I was a little exposed yesterday at the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan.

00:40:38 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 6:

I feel your pain, Mojo. When you were explaining your situation, I was cracking up because I was actually, it was like my head on your body because it was the exact same situation. I was in a compromising position trying to get dressed, and I heard a mom in the dressing area right next to me. She had a few kids, small kids, and I heard her trying to keep them all under wraps while she's trying to dress, and all of a sudden, like I said, I'm trying to remove some clothing. I'm sitting down, and I look, and here's this little head sitting right up underneath me and just looking at me, and we made eye contact, and I stared at him for a little bit, and I'm thinking, where is your mother? Why is your mother telling you to get your little head back in your own area?

00:41:23 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 2:

Dawn, you were that kid's first naked lady

00:41:27 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 6:

Poor kid

00:41:30 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm sure you're great That's weird, by the way I'm trying to give her a nice compliment I'm sure you're great naked Hannah, what's going on?

00:41:39 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi

00:41:39 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Hannah? Who saw you naked that shouldn't have?

00:41:43 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 5:

My roommate did, actually

00:41:45 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez Guy roommate, girl roommate?

00:41:49 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 5:

It's a girl roommate I want to preface it by saying that i have severe adhd so i talk before i think sometimes and my boyfriend came up to visit for the weekend he already graduated from our college and we were we were in my room and she knocked on the door she wanted to tell me something and without thinking i said hey what's up come in

and i forgot what we were doing so so did the boyfriend also uh or did somebody else see you too

00:42:20 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 5:

So it was just her That walked in saying God

00:42:25 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 4:

That's okay though I always thought that I feel like that comes with the territory of having a roommate Like at some point or another you're going to see each other

00:42:33 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 2:

Do girls get upset when other girls see you naked? Because I always thought that girls Were okay with everybody seeing them naked

00:42:39 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah and then they hugged

00:42:40 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 4:

This is not the video you watched over the weekend

00:42:45 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah Every video that I've watched over the weekend It looks like it's okay Steven, hi.

00:42:52 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going?

00:42:53 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Good. Who saw you naked that shouldn't have?

00:42:56 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 3:

My girlfriend's mother.

00:42:58 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. How did that happen? I've seen that video, too, Mike.

00:43:04 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 3:

So I wake up in the morning at 5 a.m. and I live with my girlfriend.

00:43:09 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 4:

00:43:09 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Her mother was sitting on the couch when I went to go get my work clothes. And I walked out of the bedroom completely naked.

00:43:15 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 4:

What was her reaction?

00:43:16 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 3:

00:44:52 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Naughty Moms Night Out. Naughty Moms Night Out. Can we give away a pair? I know that.

00:45:00 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 1:

But it's on the schedule for later. Can I do an extra pair today? Is that okay? Go for it. Because I actually was answering some of the DMs on our Instagram. And there is a particular mom that I promise you will be out in front of the building protesting me. Because I told her between 7 and 9 o'clock definitely we will have them. So I know we didn't have it scheduled until 8 o'clock hour. But we're going to give away a Naughty Moms Night Out pair of tickets coming up this hour. So we'll have it for you before, why don't we do this? Before 745, we will give you a shot to win. Also, Ed Sharon tickets. So we have Ed Sharon tickets again this week, 730. Listen for a chance to win. Happy National Nurses Week to all of our nurses. Thank you, by the way, to 248 for reminding me of that. I actually have a big thing going on today with the U of M nurses. So I'm going to do that a little bit later after the show and the show meeting comes up today. And then happy early Mother's Day to all the mothers, you know, that are listening to the show, the ones on this show. Shannon, happy Mother's Day to you, to my wife, Chelsea, to Mike's wife, Allie, and then to all the moms, Mama KP, Lydia's beautiful mother. You know, we love you guys so much. And then, of course, on Mother's Day, we always celebrate Scott Mick, too, because we know that he is a mother effa.

00:46:25 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

00:46:26 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 1:

Actually, he was mother and father.

00:46:28 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 3:

That's right.

00:46:29 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 1:

And because of the hard work that he did as both, he gets to celebrate both. And Megan better not. You better take him out for a brunch or something this weekend.

00:46:38 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. He gets nothing for either day.

00:46:41 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 1:

Yes. What a wonderful daughter you are. I know. You sound like my kids. I used to sit there and go, oh, God, I could not imagine being Scott Mick. Now I'm actually wanting to be Scott Mick after the conversations I've had with my kids about things in the last week or so. I'll get into that coming up next hour because I got a dilemma about Mother's Day with that. Do you buy your dad anything for either one of those days? I know Father's Day you're always big on, but do you do anything for Mother's Day for him?

00:47:07 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it's more silly than anything else because we try not to take away from moms. Sometimes we just give them extra special attention on Father's Day. But we usually get them a card. We'll get them a Happy Mother's Day card. Oh, I think that. I like it.

00:47:20 - 00:47:21 | Unknown:

That's perfect.

00:47:22 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

Mojo on the morning show. So, Shannon, you went and were hanging out on Friday. And you'll eventually tell us who the person is that you hung out with. But this particular person put the fear of God into your fiance.

00:47:38 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And I don't think he was joking at first. at first. Well, he definitely wasn't joking at first. So the guy's name is Jimmy. And let me explain to you who Jimmy is. So Jimmy owns a tamales truck, taco, tamales, just all kinds of incredible Mexican food. And we've been friends with him on this show. He's a great friend to the Mojo in the Morning Show for years and years and years. He always pulls up our truck and pulls up his truck to our studio and will bring us food sometimes in the morning just to surprise us. Just The nicest guy, salt of the earth.

00:48:12 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

He became a misfit because he called out of the blue one day, and we call him Mexican Jimmy. He came out of the blue one day and just said he wanted to bring over like 8,000 tamales.

00:48:23 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 2:

And they are so good. I'm not kidding you.

00:48:25 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 1:

Mike, 8,000. You've had them before. 8,000 tamales. Oh, good. It's crazy how many he brought in here one time.

00:48:33 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

So Friday was Cinco de Mayo, and Wes loves tamales, but he hasn't found a place in the area where he can get good ones. I'm like, I've got a guy. I kept promising him this. And so I'm like, Cinco de Mayo, perfect day. I knew where Jimmy was going to be with his food truck. So this is Wes's first time meeting Jimmy. And without skipping a beat, Jimmy shakes Wes's hand, gives him a hug, looks him dead in the eye, and with a straight face said, if you do anything to hurt her, I will grab your balls and rip them out. and then I will have the Mexican mafia take care of the rest of you. Wow.

00:49:14 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 3:

The huevos.

00:49:15 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 2:

And it was silent. And Wes looked at me with big eyes and I kind of looked at Jimmy and then all of a sudden Jimmy started laughing and I'm like, Jesus. I mean, it was just one of those moments where it got a little tense for a second. Jimmy's got a little intimidation. He said, I'm not joking around. Actually, he said, I'm not effing around with this.

00:49:34 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 1:

And I'm like. By the way, were there customers nearby?

00:49:36 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 2:

There were a lot of people nearby

00:49:38 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 1:

There were a lot of customers Parents and families and everything like that Jimmy, by the way, does have a very intimidating look too Until you realize that he's the heart of gold But I could see where that would be intimidating

00:49:49 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it went from ripping out Wes's balls To let me give you this pina colada And this big pineapple

00:49:55 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 1:

Did he say huevos or did he say balls? Because Jimmy's very authentic with this. I don't want to say he speaks like half Spanish and half English. He's like Enrique Iglesias. Sometimes I know what he's saying. Sometimes I don't, but.

00:50:08 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 2:

Enrique Santos. Yes. He is Spanglish. I don't have a daughter, but I've often thought to myself, like if I had a daughter, if my daughter was going to get picked up for like a prom, I would answer the door in military fatigues. I would borrow a friend's gun And I would like Have the gun sitting on the table Or something like that And bring him into my study Even though I don't have a study You know how you always hear those stories all the time

00:50:39 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 1:

Did you get that mic at all?

00:50:41 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 3:

I got So the first time I took Ellie out on a date Her stepdad at the time Took me to a restaurant Completely isolated me away from anybody And he had like just a single bullet in his hand And he just kept flipping it around And he would just talk to me Yeah. Oh, yeah. We had a whole conversation about marriage and about like they're not even together anymore. But this was the most terrifying conversation I have ever had. And I liked the bullet thing. I kind of like that because he didn't say you got to steal that.

00:51:09 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. When Cecily is of dating age. Absolutely.

00:51:12 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 3:

He didn't address the bullet ever either. He just rolled it around in his fingers.

00:51:15 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and you didn't say anything at all. You didn't even reference it because you were probably too fearful.

00:51:20 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I didn't want to know what he was doing with that or what he wanted to do with that or why he was just twirling it around.

00:51:26 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500, but expect that we want to talk to you. Who got the threat? Did any listeners get the threat before they went on a date, took somebody out to a school dance or something like that, or got married? I did the whole dad thing, too, with Chelsea's dad, Mike. He took me to Denny's. And for some reason, I have no idea why this is, But for some reason, Denny's was his spot And I found out later That he said he wasn't going to waste money On a good meal until he found out what I was like Oh my gosh Which I said, I like Denny's But I've never been to a Denny's, by the way Earlier than, you know, at that time 12 o'clock at night or after a bar or something

00:52:14 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but if you're going to threaten people You don't do it at a Denny's Do it at a Waffle House Oh, there you go

00:52:21 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 2:

That happens at Waffle House all the time Nobody looks You ever notice that? Anything bad happens at a Waffle House, everybody just continues to keep on eating their waffles. They're just used to it.

00:52:29 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 1:

You know what the motto is at Waffle House? Mind your business.

00:52:32 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 2:

Mind your business.

00:52:33 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 1:

Eat your food, mind your business.

00:52:36 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text right here. It says, can't go on the radio with you guys because I've got the kids in the car and I don't want them to hear this. Then how did you text? I don't know how you were texting us while the kids were in the car. But it says that my dad did that to my husband and told him that if he did anything to me, that he would cut off every limb and he had an ax sitting on the table at the time that he did that thing. Now, that's intimidation right there.

00:53:05 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 1:

I like it. You know what Scott Mick would do? He would just go, I've got a lot of land and a lot of places. I like it.

00:53:13 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 2:

That's all you need. You know what? But that would scare me just because Scott Mick kind of looks a little crazy anyway, doesn't he? He's kind of got a little kind of like, potentially there could be something there where he's doing it.

00:53:28 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 1:

But that to me is scary because you don't even know where.

00:53:31 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes. But he should just tell them where because it's always, isn't it like Kentucky and stuff like that?

00:53:36 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you can't find it. That's the best part. You need latitudinal and longitudinal lines to get there. You can't find it.

00:53:42 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 2:

I will take you to my property in Kentucky and bury your body. What's up, Melissa? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:53:52 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So the day of prom, we were ready to head out, my boyfriend and I at the time. And my dad had like 10 of his good buddies over, totally threatened my boyfriend at the time. Yes. And then we get back from prom, and the day after, he breaks up with me.

00:54:08 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, my God. Was it because of your dad, you think?

00:54:14 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 1:

Totally because of my dad. He said he was terrified of him. I was like, he's a good guy, I promise.

00:54:19 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 2:

Aw. Well, that guy's a putz.

00:54:21 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, and did dad do it in a funny way?

00:54:23 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Or, I mean, was your boyfriend just super sensitive?

00:54:26 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 1:

No, he had a pocket knife, but showing him what knuckles he'd cut off and everything. Oh, all right.

00:54:31 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 2:

He actually was picking the knuckles? Good.

00:54:34 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. He's like, and this one will work the easiest. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Oh, God. And then my prom dress, hair, makeup, We'll make, okay, I want to go to prom, thank you

00:54:41 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 2:

You know, Mike's actually right on this one Good, that guy didn't deserve you No, if he's not tough enough to get through that Then bye

00:54:48 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 1:

Stop, right?

00:54:51 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo on the Morning Show Who got the threat?

00:54:55 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi, so my mom actually Had like a form That my

00:55:00 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 6:

My now husband had to fill out with his driver's license, the make and model of his car, anything, like everything that if I were to go missing, my mom had this paper for the, to hand the police and everything. And it was kind of crazy, but he's now my husband of like 19 years.

00:55:19 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 2:

So he didn't, he didn't, uh, you know, screw up at all.

00:55:23 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 6:

No, no, not at all. I mean, he was 21 and I was 17 at the time. So that was kind of their kind of worriness of that. But he was a great guy. But I also have sons. And my oldest son, he had the talk. He got the threat from one of his ex-girlfriend's dads. And when I found out, I confronted that dad and said, dads with daughters might be crazy, but mothers with sons are a lot more crazier. And I frightened him back and said, if your daughter does anything to my son, that same thing will happen to her.

00:55:57 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's great. Thank you for the call. Hazy.

00:56:02 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you? Good morning. Good.

00:56:04 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:56:06 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 5:

I was just calling to let you know, I guess kind of the same situation. But when I was, I don't know, younger, my parents overheard a conversation on the phone of me losing my virginity. And the very next day, my dad showed up at the guy's house 6 a.m. to talk to his parents to find out what his intentions with his daughter are.

00:56:25 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 2:

No. At his house. Did he wake him up out of bed? Did he get him, like, with, like, bedhead and everything? Were the parents standing there?

00:56:33 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 5:

Yes, with the parents. He had a full-blown conversation with him and his parents in the bedroom, his living room at 6 a.m.

00:56:40 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 4:

What did dad think he was going to change in this situation? Let people sleep? No. You give it back. No idea. We still fight about it like 15 years later.

00:56:48 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I'm telling you, though, Mike, you would be that dad. If you found out that some guy, you know, deflowered, you would probably be.

00:56:57 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God, I can't even think about that. He's so non-confrontational, though, would he?

00:57:02 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 2:

No. Mike would go and go, well, hey, I. Hey, let me tell you. Hey, I got a bit of Scott make crazy in me. Like, I'm nice. I'm nice until you cross.

00:57:13 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 1:

Careless Whisper would come out, for sure. Hey. What?

00:57:18 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 2:

If you touch my daughter. All right, thank you for the call, Hazy. I like that name. That's a cool name, Hazy.

00:57:27 - 00:57:27 | Unknown:

Thanks.

00:57:28 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. You might be the first Hazy that's ever called the show.

00:57:31 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I've called here a couple times. I'm sure that I have.

00:57:33 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? I probably mispronounced your name. By the way, happy Teacher's Appreciation Week 2. Somebody explain this to me. Why is it, we've got all these weeks of the year Why do we have Mother's Day Mother's Week Nurses Appreciation Week And Teachers Appreciation Week All at the same time Why can't we spread this out

00:57:53 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 1:

That is a good point

00:57:54 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 2:

I feel like all we're doing is We're cramming it all into one This is kind of like Christmas and Christmas Eve Are you saying women aren't appreciated enough Mojo I'm saying that we can actually Maybe do, and actually we could do months Why don't we do months for them So let's figure that out

00:58:10 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 6:

The answer is you're right

00:58:11 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to earn some points here today. There you go.

00:58:15 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:17 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 2:

Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30.

00:58:20 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to start with this. We lost a good one over the weekend. Nick Gilbert, the 26-year-old son of Dan Gilbert, passed away after a really long and really brave fight with neurofibromatosis, or MNF for short. This awful disease, if you don't know about it, It causes tumors to grow on the brain and the spinal cord and the skin. There is no cure for NF, by the way. But Nick was the good luck charm for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the draft lottery many, many times. He was always wearing his signature bow tie. Loved that. He was also a frequent visitor to the Mojo in the Morning show.

00:58:57 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 2:

I thought that was really special that you said about Nick. Nick is your hero?

00:59:02 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, Nick, you know, Nick's a special kid. He's obviously had a lot of challenges his entire life, and he's overcome a lot of odds and a lot of things.

00:59:09 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 2:

And, Dan, when did you guys, when did you and your wife find out that Nick had this?

00:59:14 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, he was 15 months old. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic condition. One in 3,000 people are born with it. Nick has, he's had brain surgery, removing tumors. They're typically benign, but they can be, you know, otherwise. Sure. He's had a handle, he's had four rounds of chemotherapy, and brain surgery has overcome it all. He's never complained to Dane in his life, and he's really been an example for everybody. We're real proud of him, and obviously he's got the odds going for him in a lot of ways.

00:59:39 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Dane Gilbert on the phone with us, and Nick Gilbert, his 14-year-old son, in studio with us. Nick, what does it feel like to you to find out that your dad thinks that you're his hero?

00:59:49 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 5:

It feels really good. I mean, as I said last night, what's not to like?

00:59:55 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

He's one of five kids in the Gilbert family, and I want to read you something because...

01:00:00 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, you and I were talking about it before the show. His brother Grant wrote the most incredible tribute to Nick on social media. And I just want to read you. It's long. But one part of it said, Nick didn't lose his fight against NF. He beat the F out of it, actually. Nick won the battle after brain surgery at 10 and living the rest of his childhood just as every kid did. He won back-to-back brain surgeries. Radiation and physical disabilities didn't stop him from graduating college. He won when we all thought we may lose him in the fall, but came back for more memories at Cavs games, MSU games, and celebrating New Year's Eve with his friends. I guess he was just tired of winning all the time.

01:00:43 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

He was a great, great young man, and as recently as just a couple months ago, actually it was February or three months ago, he had sent me a text, and I didn't even realize he was asking me to help plug the fundraiser that they were doing with undie run and i did not know that he was in boston in the process of treatments at the particular time that he was doing that you know because of he was the he always was trying to not so much just find a cure for what he was battling but he knew that that cure maybe not help him but it would help other families that

01:01:21 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 3:

have to go through it so what a sad thing in other dirty this morning taylor swift and maddie healy from the 1975 together in nashville this weekend people are going crazy over this they were spotted by paparazzi arriving to taylor's condo at like 12 30 in the morning saturday into sunday um after her era show in nashville sat right next to each other in the back seat of their vehicle while where Maddie was still wearing the same bracelet that he sported earlier in the evening while attending her show alongside some of Taylor's best friends Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge and then I know on um I think it was Saturday night you know Phoebe Bridgers has been opening for Taylor Swift during some of the dates of the era's tour and on Saturday at Nissan stadium in nashville phoebe brought out maddie healy and he accompanied her on guitar so people were freaking out about that as well that he actually took the stage last uh uh week on the

01:02:25 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 2:

show when megan was telling us all the bad things about this guy i was thinking to myself i'm like going doesn't taylor like have like a better thoughts on this maybe he's not as bad as we think because i can't see her jumping into a relationship with a bad guy like this well to be fair i i love

01:02:42 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Matty Healy. And I love the 1975. I just think he's struggling right now. And that's just my opinion. That's alleged. I have no idea what's really going on in his life. I would just say

01:02:53 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 3:

I'm fearful for Taylor. And she, like word on the street is she is head over heels madly in love with this guy. I know on Friday night, Swifties were posting this all over social media that at At one point during the show, she, like, looked at the camera and she had this very, like, sarcastic look on her face. And she mouthed the words, this is about you. You know who you are. I love you.

01:03:19 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know, everyone's like, he did it at his show the week before. Yes.

01:03:23 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

So they're, like, doing these little things back and forth to each other at their shows and people are starting to catch on. But anyway. All right. King Charles' coronation ceremony. We need to talk about that. That drew an audience of about 20 million U.K. viewers on Saturday. I'm not quite sure yet what the numbers are here in the States. But that 20 million down from the 29 million who watched the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September of last year. So not as many people interested in seeing that crown placed on Charles' head. God save the king.

01:04:01 - 01:04:02 | Unknown:

God save the king.

01:04:02 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 3:

By the way, he really does have sausage fingers. I noticed that. It really does.

01:04:07 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 4:

That man's got a heart condition for sure.

01:04:10 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 2:

Something's going on. Is it true, by the way, that Harry would not say God save the king? Because that was what Daily Mail was saying. They said that they saw him not mouth it, that he wouldn't say it.

01:04:19 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 4:

He was too worried about filing.

01:04:21 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 3:

Daily Mail, so I mean. That's my go-to. The king was crowned. The queen was crowned. Still kind of weird to call Camilla that.

01:04:28 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 5:

may thy servant camilla who wears this crown be filled by thine abundant grace and with all princely virtues and then prince you're a nasty bitch

01:04:39 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 3:

had to get down and like kiss his dad's cheek and who's this now who's kissing dad's oh william

01:04:46 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 1:

i'm sorry i william prince of wales pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth i will bear unto you as your liege man of life and limb so help me god what are the two

01:04:57 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 3:

I cannot think of the word right now I feel so stupid

01:05:00 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 4:

But what are the two things that King Charles was holding at one point? The scepter? Yes, he had two of them, okay? Yeah. Did you see the meme, Megan? Somebody posted me when my dad asks me to bring a screwdriver and I don't know which one he wants.

01:05:14 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 5:

No, but that's actually hysterical. And it was the Kate holding those scepters. I love that. Can I tell you my favorite part? Yeah. Was Kate wearing Princess Diana's earrings?

01:05:23 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Oh. You don't think that was very strategic? I thought Kate looked stunning.

01:05:29 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely stunning. And I thought it was interesting that the choice of jewelry was all Diana's jewelry. Because apparently William and Kate really don't like Camilla. Surprise, surprise.

01:05:41 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, by the way, Prince Harry was there. He was seated in the third row for the actual coronation at Westminster Abbey. Got the heck out of there. Was on his way to Heathrow and back home to California right afterwards. Meghan Markle, during the coronation, spotted hiking with her bodyguard.

01:05:56 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 3:

What is William and Kate's son's name? Because he, again, stole the show.

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 4:

George or Louie?

01:06:02 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 3:

I think it was Louie.

01:06:03 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, they kept having to remove Louie. And then they would bring him back. And then he was gone. Louie's going to be the partier in that family. Yeah. Yesterday, LeBron James' son, Bronny, revealed that he is committing to the University of Southern California, the Trojans. He was a five-star recruit. Got offers from Ohio State. Yeah, Oregon, Kentucky, a ton more schools wanted him. Of course, LeBron sharing his reaction before the Lakers game against the Warriors yesterday, writing on social media, Fight On. So damn proud of you, kid. I have no words besides I love you, Bronny. Let's go. And security officials at the International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, found 375 pounds of this in an American couple's suitcase. Any guesses what the this is?

01:06:53 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 3:

I saw the story, so I can't guess.

01:06:55 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, the answer is fruit roll-ups, 375 pounds of fruit roll-ups. Now, okay, so here's the thing. Israel's customs and import guidelines only allow visitors to bring up to 15 kilograms of food products into the country or out of the country. So Israeli authorities believe that TikTok is the reason why people are smuggling such large amounts of fruit roll-ups into the country. And it's this trend. I don't know if you've seen it. Is it the frozen one? Yes, of putting ice cream between fruit roll-ups and then freezing them as this amazing snack. So that trend has caused the price of fruit roll-ups to skyrocket.

01:07:37 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 3:

I never liked fruit roll-ups, but that sounds delicious. What? They get all crunchy.

01:07:41 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 5:

People make ASMR videos with them. They're very satisfying. You didn't like fruit roll-ups? I didn't like fruit roll-ups. What's wrong with you?

01:07:47 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm a chocolatey type person, so I was never into fruit roll-ups or nerd ropes and things like that. I hated those things.

01:07:53 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 5:

You never eat Gushers, man?

01:07:55 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 3:

No, because I needed, honestly, to be, I used to trade all of the kids in school, if I got fruit roll-ups or any of that other stuff, for their sandwiches. Because I wanted, you know, I wanted meat. I wanted substance.

01:08:09 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 5:

No, wait. I would have pulled the fire alarm for a packet of Gushers.

01:08:14 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to be able to, like, eat a sandwich, so I would trade, like, sandwiches for whatever the heck it was.

01:08:19 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 4:

This one kid who always said at my lunch table irked the hell out of me when his mom packed him a fruit roll-up because, Megan, he would peel it back from that little piece of plastic, roll it up into a ball, and eat the whole thing in one bite. Wow. You can't do that.

01:08:32 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 5:

You could sometimes because you could pocket it for later like a little hamster, like a little gum pocket for later.

01:08:37 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 2:

You roll it out and then eat it by the, like, you put it on your tongue and eat it inch by inch by inch by inch.

01:08:43 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 5:

No, first of all, you do the tongue tattoos first. You do as many tongue tattoos as possible, and then you start to eat it.

01:08:49 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I forgot about those. Yeah. Okay.

01:08:51 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 5:

Daxton Hotel, Friday, downtown Birmingham, Naughty Moms Night Out. More chances to win coming up next hour. Can I quickly, before Megan gets into this next topic, can I quickly just give a quick thank you to my friend Mike Mike and the entire people over at this particular location so I ended up getting hit up by a mom who said it wasn't until that she heard me talking about trying to get my son Luke prepared for his prom that she realized that as a single mom she had to figure out how to get her son who goes to I believe it was West Bloomfield High School goes to West Bloomfield High School a tuxedo and so she was like where do I go didn't know what's going on and she remembers back in the day when she was in you know uh school she said that there was president tuxedos yeah everybody went there and she couldn't figure out because i don't think that they're around anymore i think that or yeah i'm not sure or there's like she couldn't find one close to her so she um like i said i was answering some dms on our our social media she reached out to me and she said do you know where i could go because i know you said that your son wanted to wear a suit and not a tuxedo so i ended up calling up um michael over at sam michaels which is in farmington hills i don't even know where they are oh they're uh 12 mile and middle belt so they're over down the street from actually the radio studios here and sam michaels ended up helping this mom out and gave her this mom a tuxedo and helped her out and oh i did all the stuff so isn't that awesome so good people over there they're really really nice i actually met them through uh slim and joey because those guys would go they would go back in the day like slim and joey would go for our events that we were at and they would get dressed by them and i didn't realize that they had their official clothier oh i don't even know if that's the word but i figured if slim calls it the shoppy uh the tobacco shoppy then it was the clothier i love that they did that for them and that was really nice yeah so they're good people so if you're looking for a tuxedo for your kids 12 mile middle bell you said sam michaels um mojo on the morning show so megan megan has a theory or actually not a theory it's a fact probably right megan i think so That every woman I know will agree with And most guys will say I heard about this in my therapy Before my wife divorced me

01:12:30 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Maybe I went out to dinner this past weekend And I was with a group of both men and women And we're going around the table We're discussing our week We're going over stuff And it kind of turns into a discussion About problems that we're having And we're just kind of going about our lives and saying, you know, I'm going through this. You know, I'm going through something similar. And we're kind of bonding over the fact that some of us are going through the same stuff. And it's just nice to have a listening ear, especially when you're very stressed out about something. I don't think it's very fun when you feel alone. I think you feel a lot better when you feel your friends are going through something similar. So I'm feeling good. And then all of a sudden it gets to the guys at the table. and the guys are not listening ears that are being supportive I don't know why men do this you don't always need to provide solutions I don't need you to fix my problems I need you to tell me yeah that sucks and that's it end of the conversation period we can just end it right there and move along I felt like at the end of this conversation I was fighting for my life just defending my own actions and and turning into like a very defensive position of all these guys telling me what i needed to fix about myself buddies i don't i don't need your solution i need a partner to just tell me oh i feel you i'm on your team all right you guys always this is

01:14:02 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 4:

this is an opportunity for you to call in and i know that every guy is going to hate this one for you to call in and talk about how this annoys you too with your guy. Why is it that guys do this? This came up numerous times over the years in therapy.

01:14:19 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

01:14:20 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 4:

But one of the last times that Chelsea and I went through therapy, it came up. Mike, did it come up in your therapy? Yeah, but I have a solution for this.

01:14:27 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm kidding. I'm joking. My wife and I have talked about this before. When she starts telling me things, I go, am I listening or am I helping? Am I listening or am I helping? And nine times out of 10, it's listening, and I still try to help. I don't mean to. I don't mean to. We're fixers, right?

01:14:45 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 5:

That's what I was going to say. Fortunately and unfortunately, it's kind of a good problem to have because your natural instinct. No, I hate it too, Megan. I'm 10,000% on your side. I'm just saying I see where they want to fix everything and make it better right away.

01:15:00 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 2:

way but that's not what women need in that moment also it's it's under the impression to me that no women then in men's eyes can solve their own problems well they must need a big bully men no i can solve my own problems i've been handling it myself just fine up until this point it's

01:15:16 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 1:

amazing that i've made it this far just let me be i'm telling you that every woman has dealt with

01:15:22 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 3:

this in their relationship lena what's going on good morning guys um i i was just listening to And Megan and I couldn't believe it because I have this conversation all the time with my husband. You know, like you have a bad day at work or something goes wrong and you just want somebody to listen. And they're like, well, I would have done this or I would have done that. No. You don't want to solve it. You just want to say, wow, that really sucks. Or something.

01:15:46 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

I wish I knew this sooner. So if there are any younger guys listening to the show, and I know we got a lot of them, you know, of high school, college age, early 30s, listen to this. because it will save you a lot of stress. All they want you to do is go, mm, okay.

01:16:03 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe that. I hate him too. How dare they? That is so rude of them.

01:16:09 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Lena, do you think that if your husband would have years before done this, that it probably would have made for a little happier time for him?

01:16:17 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Absolutely, 100%.

01:16:20 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Corrine, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:16:23 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, everyone. Good morning. I'm a listener, but first-time caller. yay i love it i love it um so i wanted to call it on this so um in my relationship my husband love him dearly but this is something we get into arguments about all the time because i'm actually in like the mental health field and he's more in like the computer field so i feel like sometimes he's more like the black and white and i'm more of like just listen to my feelings you know and And so this is something we argue about all the time. And like I think the previous caller said, just listen to me and tell me how much it sucks and, you know.

01:17:06 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

You know what I want to do since he's in the computer field? I want to try out AI on this. Where you just complain to an AI computer. And let's see. So here, I've got my AI computer all hooked up here right now. Tell me something that's going on in your life, Corrine, and I'm going to tell you what this computer says, okay?

01:17:24 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:17:25 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead.

01:17:25 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 5:

um let's see all right so there's someone at work that's not really working with me and making me feel like i'm not doing my job right it isn't supportive and it's bringing me down every day and i and i don't know what to do but you know it's just these are my feelings and yeah.

01:17:52 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, AI computer, what do you say to this?

01:17:56 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:17:56 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 1:

The AI computer says, Mojo, why are you playing the AOL dial-up sound effect? That's the only thing you have? No, the AI computer saying, I'm not touching that at all. I don't want to get involved in any of your work squabbles. Actually, I wonder what AI... Fair enough. We should actually throw this into it. We should throw in, whatever, Megan, your issue was on Saturday that you had, we should throw it into an AI computer and see exactly if it would come and try to fix you or if it would be something that would be smart enough to realize that you shouldn't try to fix that. I'm actually really curious. We'll have to figure that out. Somebody Google how to do that.

01:18:37 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 4:

Emily, what's going on? I'm a couples therapist. I like to give homework for sessions. Nine times out of 10 this is the first homework assignment i give my couples is to listen are you listening

01:18:53 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 1:

to respond are you listening to answer a question is it wait is this the whole um tell us what you heard and then you have to do the whole when you said this this is what i heard is that because i

01:19:06 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

i've done that before yeah no it's like okay so are you listening i have either the husband or the wife or whoever it is. I need you to listen or I need you to solve this problem for me. I need

01:19:19 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

to vent. I need to listen. Yeah. Can I tell you something, Emily? Yeah. When my wife and I almost went through, you know, a divorce a couple of times, we've had really bad struggles. Sometimes the last struggle that we had, it wasn't until I recorded the session to know what exactly was going on because I was not listening to what she was saying at all. And I do it still to this day. And it's one of my worst, you know, things I can listen to, you know, a listener or listen to you or do whatever. But I don't, you know, pay attention sometimes, you know, to to what the person who means the most to me is saying. And I think we all do this. Right. And you probably see this a ton in your therapy.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I do.

01:20:01 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 1:

It's funny.

01:20:03 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 3:

Because I make so many assumptions.

01:20:05 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:20:05 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 3:

Assumptions are already made.

01:20:07 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 1:

And guys always try to get right to the end of things. This is like us with the Cliff Notes versions of books. We want to read the Cliff Notes instead of actually enjoying the book. What were you going to say, Mike?

01:20:18 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 4:

I sent the message to, it's not the same thing, but Snapchat's AI, just to see what Snapchat's AI would say. I have a coworker who won't work with me. They'll make me feel unsupported, blah, blah, blah, blah. They tried to fix it. It says, that's tough. Have you tried talking to them about it?

01:20:35 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 6:

Now you know what it's like talking to a man. AI is a man.

01:20:41 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 1:

Xavier, what's up?

01:20:43 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I was going to say that, yeah, Megan, you're completely right. Me, as a guy, I have a lot of guy friends. And they always try to fix my issues with, like, different solutions. And it's annoying because I just need someone to hear me out.

01:21:00 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 1:

Wait, even as a guy, you want your guy friends to listen to you and not try to fix your problems.

01:21:07 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it's so annoying because you're having, like, the worst day and you're just trying to, like, you know, like, offend and everything. But they give you solutions to, like, what you should have done or what you need to do next time. It's like, I don't need to.

01:21:24 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 6:

can I tell you what my favorite part of solutions are most of the time they have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to especially specific things about like let's say it was about my job nobody knows what my job is like unless you work in the industry and then you coming up with solutions and me telling you that's not a viable solution then you'd be like no no I just don't think you're listening to me what I said for you to do is this it's not practical stop trying to offer stuff you don't know what you're talking about just listen exactly exactly that's all

01:21:54 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 2:

That's all I'm trying to say is just listen.

01:21:56 - 01:21:58 | Speaker 6:

Listen, listen, nigga.

01:22:00 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 1:

Sarah, you have a very interesting husband. I like that he voices this. What does your husband say?

01:22:08 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 5:

So we've been married for almost 10 years, and he, like, if I go on a rant, I won't even, I always just start talking. And it will be quiet for just a little bit, and he'll say, do you need me to problem solve or do you need empathy?

01:22:22 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 1:

I like that. Wow. I like that. Yeah. And you know what? I hope you answer him honestly. Do you answer him honestly on that?

01:22:31 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do. I mean, it's helpful because sometimes I do just want the empathetic, like, that really sucks. And I'm a teacher, too, so, like, he doesn't get it. But other times, it is, you know, sometimes, not all the time. But it is nice to get that problem solving. But it's been a long time for that to happen, but it happens now.

01:22:55 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

01:22:57 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 5:

Thanks.

01:22:57 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 1:

You too. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So Mike is back. He went on a week vacation with his in-laws down to Florida. You went to a place in Florida that I've heard so many people talking about. It seems like the last five or six years, it's become like the hot spot. It's like the Destin area of Florida, right? Yeah, yeah. Miramar Beach, Destin area. Yeah. And so Mike is is back and we don't know exactly how did you do the road trip? Because before you left, you were trying to see if a listener would give you their car to drive and then you would trade something, either a service or something that, you know, would be beneficial to them for use of their car for a week. And what did you do?

01:23:41 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 4:

so we ended up going through toro and getting a uh a 2023 kia sportage like hybrid because it was like brand new all the features were there uh it was rental so like i don't have to worry about miles or anything and then it was hybrid so i literally paid 80 bucks in gas to get to florida Wow. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so on top of that, we got Allie a bunch of different things for the ride. She got this big, like, cushion for the seat. The seats were spacey enough, but the chairs itself, sitting for that long for her would have been pretty rough. So we got her this big cushion. She got compression socks, which side note. That's so smart. Yeah. I don't know if I was supposed to be excited about this, but I got very excited over those. They were, like, knee-high compression socks. Damn sexy. Maybe it's been a minute.

01:24:40 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 6:

Wait, remind listeners how many weeks along she is.

01:24:43 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

She is, so she has four weeks left. I'm trying to do the math. So she's 36 weeks. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah, so she's due at the end of this month into, like, maybe June. Maybe June. So, Mike, with the baby coming soon.

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

And I know you talked to us before you left about how you have a boy's name, but you don't have a girl's name. Is that right? No. I'm sorry. You have a girl's name, but you don't have a boy's name.

01:25:10 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 1:

We, yeah. So we spent a lot of time on this road trip too. Just like the kids would fall asleep. So we'd have all this time to get into like deep conversations. And that's why I love road trips is because you, you, you are not forced to, but you have a lot of opportunity to have these great conversations. And the other person can't walk out of the room. or whatever. So we had some wonderful conversations and then finally got into, all right, we need to decide a boy's name. We cannot go into the delivery room and not have a name. So we went over 8 million names. We went through apps. We went through, we would see stuff on the side of the road and we'd say that. We finally found a name and we're like, this is it. We got a middle name. We got a first name. We had all these different meanings on why we love the name. Then we get to Florida and we start doing all these fun things and we go to an aquarium and go to like this dolphin show and all these little dolphins are flipping around and dancing and kids love it and it's it's a lot of fun and then the stupid dolphin's name was that name yes yes oh my god so i don't know if it's like a when you get a car or when you you know you hear you find a name you seem to hear it everywhere but every single place we go you see that we see that name and some of it's good Some of it's really, really good. And then some of it is dolphins. And I'm like, well, was the dolphin good?

01:26:34 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 3:

Was it well-behaved? Because that always is a factor.

01:26:37 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 1:

I asked the kids if that was their favorite, and they said, no, Zeke was their favorite.

01:26:40 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 2:

I think, honestly, that that just happens. But you know what? I'd love to know, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What made you change the name before you named your baby that? um what what happened prior to your baby being born that made you go uh-oh we're not naming the baby this um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 mike the um the thing with seeing that name all over the place is just like when you start having kids do you ever notice that you start noticing everybody has the same strollers as you or everybody has the same baby you know the diaper bags or well

01:27:18 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's so top of mind for you. You're always thinking about it or talking about it, so you notice it way more than you normally would.

01:27:24 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 2:

I never saw the stroller that we had with Luke, and then all of a sudden, I saw that stroller everywhere, and it was the same stroller all over the place to a point where you would go and you'd do it in the stroller parking at different places.

01:27:38 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 3:

And then would you judge parents who are like, ooh, they splurged for the leather grips on the handles?

01:27:44 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 2:

They got the one that's got like two kids can fit into it. But I think that's what happens with this name thing. I think that it's a subconscious, psychological, some kind of thing.

01:27:54 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 1:

It could be, but what happens if, like, because the dolphin thing is wild, and it's kind of hard to stick with the name after you've seen the dolphin dance around.

01:28:02 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Really? That was my question. Is the name out now?

01:28:04 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I don't know. We went back and forth again. But, like, if something more serious were to happen, I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I don't know that we keep this name.

01:28:14 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 2:

I think it's a sign. That's the name. Pamela, what's going on? What made you guys have to change the name?

01:28:20 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I thought we loved the name Connor, which I'm thinking, okay. I thought it was a strong, good name, and I know a lot of Connors. I thought it was a good name. My sister-in-law, when we were telling them the names, and the secret is now don't ever tell anybody your name because people give you it. Once you give it to them, they're not going to give you your opinion. But before that, so she looked at us right in front of my husband and everything, and she goes, you can't name him Connor. And we're like, why not? We love that name. She goes, they'll go around just calling him Condom Boy. He'll just be Condom Boy his whole life. And my husband was like, nope, can't name him that. I can't have my son going around being called Condom Boy. Wait, why Condom Boy?

01:28:59 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 3:

Just because the con and con, like the first couple letters? I guess. I don't know.

01:29:02 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 4:

She didn't make the name, but she made sure it wasn't going to be that name.

01:29:06 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you something. They can come up with a nickname for any name.

01:29:11 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jessica?

01:29:14 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes, hi, Jen. Morning.

01:29:16 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What made you change the name?

01:29:18 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 5:

Well, my 13-year-old son, when I was pregnant with him, his father wanted to name him Parker Peter.

01:29:28 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

Like Spider-Man.

01:29:30 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 5:

It was like Peter Parker backwards, and I just couldn't do it.

01:29:35 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that right there, I would have just said no to it right off the bat. Alyssa, what's up?

01:29:45 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 5:

hello good morning how are you we're good what's going on so when we were naming our son we went through like just like my gajillion names and my husband was dead set on the name oliver and i

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 4:

So I'm like, I'm not naming my son after the boy who killed Jon Snow.

01:30:03 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

01:30:05 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, spoiler alert. Don't blame us.

01:30:10 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 1:

Come on, it's been out long enough.

01:30:12 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 2:

No, I agree with you. I'm just saying people get real heated about this stuff.

01:30:16 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:30:16 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 2:

I got death threats over spoiling Jeopardy, remember.

01:30:20 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:30:21 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, I forgot about that story. Well, sorry, listeners.

01:30:24 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 1:

I love, by the way, the name Spoiler is a good one, too. You could put that on there

01:30:30 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 2:

That's funny though

01:30:32 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 1:

That's funny when you watch a TV show And you see that name in there And you're like okay And the person's a bad guy Like that always makes you go I don't know I'm setting this kid up For a problem later in life Brandy what's up

01:30:45 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey So I wanted to name my son Sebastian And I would tell people the name And they would be like oh like The Little Mermaid And I'm like no not like The Little Mermaid It was actually supposed to be from, like, another movie, but everyone only referenced to the stupid crab from Little Mermaid. That's a fun crab, though, at least. I was like, I can't, I can't, I don't want people to think of this stupid crab every time they think of his name, so I changed it.

01:31:13 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 1:

That's cute. What's your name?

01:31:14 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 4:

His name is Gabriel now. Gabriel. I love both names.

01:31:17 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

That's a great name. I like this one. Octavia had to change the name because your husband, why?

01:31:23 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

he couldn't he said he couldn't spell it so so we had so so we had um the name jeremiah picked out and so it was between like jeremiah jordan and like something else and so i was really stuck on jeremiah and so the lady comes in to do the birth certificate she's like okay well what's the baby's name going to be so i looked at him and i'm like okay jeremiah he's like no i don't really i don't i don't know how to spell that I said, you idiot, what do you mean you don't know how to spell Jeremiah? So we ended up going with Jordan because he's not my ex-cousin, but he was a dodo bird during the time.

01:32:03 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 1:

I hate to say this, though, but there are certain names I have a hard time spelling if I have to do it. Jeremiah is a tough one. Remember, whenever we do throwback throwdown, we have that Jeremiah and then Jeremiah. Well, yeah. But the other word, too, is I have no idea how to spell the word restaurant. For some reason, I always get caught on restaurant.

01:32:25 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Same. If it wasn't for auto-cracker, that word would never be spelled right. I, for some reason, can't figure it out.

01:32:32 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 3:

But my name is Octavia. That's not an easy name compared to Jeremiah.

01:32:38 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 2:

No, I disagree. I think Octavia is easier than Jeremiah. Oh, me too. Even the eyes would mess me up.

01:32:43 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 1:

Did he ever have problems with spelling your name?

01:32:47 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 2:

No, never.

01:32:48 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 1:

He never screwed it up on a card or anything like that?

01:32:52 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 3:

Um, I don't think so.

01:32:54 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 1:

No?

01:32:55 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 3:

Not that I'm, I know I gotta think back. I feel like maybe once, but no, I don't think so.

01:33:00 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 1:

You need a name like Bob or something like that. Just come up with something real simple, right?

01:33:04 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to all the kids who could never find their name on a souvenir keychain or license plate. What's your name? Uh, Thaddeus. Good luck with that one, sports. It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:33:15 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 1:

Naughty Moms Night Out. We'll give you a chance to get in before 8.40, okay? So before 840, we'll give you a shot to get into Naughty Mom's Night Out. So don't go anywhere, all right? Mojo in the morning show. So I have a quick question just to throw out to you guys, but the listeners can weigh in on this one too. So as a dad and as a husband, do I have to buy gifts now for Mother's Day for the eldest of my kids? Now, Luke, I can understand because he's just like on that cusp, you know, graduating high school and stuff. But I had so I had a conversation with my boys over the weekend trying to explain to them that it was like go time right now. Like, you know, this was, you know, shooting off into space like the launch pad time. Yeah. You know, you would need to need to be ready to go and ready to to get ready to, you know, have all your stuff in a row. Just be prepared. But I said to them, you guys got like a week to get something into your mom and don't do this whole thing because this is the thing that Joe does all the time. Joe does the whole thing. Oh, I ordered it and it's on back order and it's coming. And then I'll call him up and go, it wasn't on back order. And he goes, well, Amazon delivers everything same day sometimes. I'm like, Amazon delivers like mouthwash and toothpaste the same day. They don't deliver gifts to your mom. And I don't know what you're buying your mom, but they're not delivering it the same day. You know what I mean? Like, it's not a Mother's Day gift the same day. You shouldn't be doing it 48 hours before Mother's Day anyway if you have to order something.

01:35:03 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 4:

If you're ordering flowers, do you understand that it's the florist, it's the busiest time for the florist. Like these florists don't necessarily have time to be jacking around with this. So I said to them, you guys got to get your gifts in. And now Joe has a full-time job, obviously. You know, he does the morning show and afternoon shows called The Joe Show. Jacob, on the other hand, is still in school. He's still in college. But he's got a paid internship that he gets paid for. And honestly, if he needed money, I would give him money for this. And I, you know, I think that they need to pick something out. Like for Luke, for instance, I'm making Luke go with me to pick something out. So I'm taking Luke, and we're going to go, and we're going to buy something. Because I don't want to pick something out, and then Luke go when Chelsea opens up. Oh, my God, that was so great. And he goes, what was it? Like, because that's happened before. And I don't want to do the whole thing where I just throw the kids' names on there, but I will say this. To ease the pain that's on Chelsea sometimes, because she's had this before, all she wants is a card. Like, she wants a handmade card. It doesn't cost anything.

01:36:09 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:36:10 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 4:

Like, even as grown adults, you know, she wants them to just make a handmade card.

01:36:14 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 1:

I think it's smart of you to remind Joe, but I don't think it is your responsibility to, like, be on his case every single day leading up to Sunday, because he's old enough. Jacob, too, actually. Although Jacob's so busy with school. I'm sure that this could, like, slip his mind, but I think, I was going to say, I think they're big boys. They said no now. And truly, I mean, as a mom, the card with something in it means the absolute most to me. Is Chelsea's love language words of affirmation?

01:36:43 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:36:44 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:36:45 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:36:46 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, all these guys need to do is write a card.

01:36:48 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 4:

Something seriously. You were about to say stupid. Oh, okay. I was going to say simple, but I was going to say stupid, but then I caught myself and figured out another word to say but something as simple as something as simple as i you know love you mom here's a construction and then listen to what joe did last year joe last year took a picture of it and asked me to to copy it on my printer at work and then bring it in to his mom so it doesn't even have it's not even handwritten no it was him and i'm like that is

01:37:20 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 1:

like the the worst thing ever i want to shout out all of like the elementary school teachers too because you save the dads when it comes to mother's day yeah by creating all of these little projects that our kids bring home for us that are made because i know i know there are moms that don't love those those are actually my favorite things ever when your kids are grown kids when they're older there's no teacher making macaroni necklaces with them honestly i think that

01:37:45 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 4:

if jacob did a macaroni necklace because that he seems like the type of kid that would do it she You would go crazy. I know. Yeah. What's up, Dylan? And yet I'm buying or something at Lucido Fine Jewelry. Fran, do you have a macaroni necklace that I can buy? What's up, Dylan? What's going on?

01:38:01 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Can you guys hear me all right? I can hear you.

01:38:04 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 4:

Where are you? Are you calling us from the middle of the ocean or where you at?

01:38:07 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm calling from downtown Detroit, actually. Oh, okay. On my way to work.

01:38:12 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 4:

What's happening?

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 3:

I believe that, no, you should not have to remind them about the mother city, especially if they are almost grown adults.

01:38:21 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 4:

Yes, thank you. Why did I not have you as a son?

01:38:26 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 3:

I mean, they're almost grown adults. Whenever they have a girlfriend or a wife, there's going to be nobody to remind them about anniversaries, birthdays, nothing like that.

01:38:36 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying they need to fail and fall on their face, otherwise they'll have the same issues later in life.

01:38:45 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. They have to learn through the state.

01:38:48 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 1:

I get what you're saying. The problem is it only hurts Chelsea then.

01:38:51 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:38:52 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 1:

She's the casualty there.

01:38:53 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 4:

And the problem is knowing, you know, Joe, he'd probably do something for his girlfriend but not do it for his mom. But what's going on, Janet?

01:39:03 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hey. It's not the object. It's just the thought that counts. So it doesn't matter what it is. It's just they have to. If they're earning the income, they should get their mom something.

01:39:13 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Will you do me a favor? Will you call 93-3-FLZ? It reminds you. Yeah, the request line number and tell him that, please. Yes.

01:39:23 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm actually a procrastinator. I've been telling my husband, hey, it's Mother's Day, such and such date, hey. And I still have not gone to go get my mom and mother-in-law's gifts either.

01:39:33 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you got to – here's the thing. Sometimes you don't practice what you preach, and you don't realize it. I planned on buying Chelsea's gift like weeks ago because I said I wasn't going to screw up again. Guess what? Yes. Luke and I still haven't gone out to buy the gift.

01:39:47 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 2:

And I just went to Kroger's yesterday, and there's so many beautiful flowers at Kroger.

01:39:51 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what? They have a great floral apartment. I've mentioned that this morning. They're seriously beautiful. The other thing I wanted to throw out there, too, is what ends up happening.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 1:

when you procrastinate is you buy something that's more expensive than you need to buy. Yeah. And so you end up buying something that doesn't matter.

01:40:06 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 3:

And usually it's not a good fit. No. It's like the desperate.

01:40:10 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. I've done that for Chelsea over the years. Yeah. All right. Naughty Moms Night Out. Maybe it wouldn't be funny. Jacob, Dad, can you just give Mom some passes to Naughty Moms Night Out? Sure, Jacob. We'll do that. We'll give you a chance to get in coming up in just a second. It's the second date update. All right, time now for the second date update. So we got a little issue here. And the issue is that we're not getting a call back from the girl that wanted to do the second date update. And wanted to find out why she's not getting a message back. So this is kind of interesting.

01:40:57 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 3:

Kind of the opposite of what we've had.

01:40:58 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, usually it's a tough one, right? So am I right by saying that, Sean? Are you the person that's not calling back? Sean?

01:41:08 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 2:

No, that's correct.

01:41:09 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 1:

So this is kind of wild here because we were doing Second Date Update, and Ellie contacted our producers and said that she wanted to find out why it was that you weren't calling back after you guys went on a date. And usually you're the tough person to get. It's not necessarily the person that does want to do this. Maybe she's got cold feet. Can we kind of go with the whole, let's hear about the date, and then tell us why you're not calling her back, and maybe that will be the explanation as to why she's not on the phone with us right now to talk to us.

01:41:45 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Sure.

01:41:46 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so what was the date? What did you guys do?

01:41:50 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 2:

We went to a pretty nice Italian restaurant. Um, you know, it was like, uh, you know, you know, for a first date, kind of like more than I usually do, but, uh, we've been like talking for a while. We met on Tinder and, uh, we'd been like FaceTiming for a couple of weeks before we actually met up in person. So I feel like, you know, we'd already kind of hit it off. Um, so, you know, this was, um, you know, it's kind of like a special day.

01:42:14 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. So go out to eat. Everything was good. Your conversation was good. What happened? Yeah.

01:42:20 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah. But it was good up until she got a text from her ex-boyfriend.

01:42:27 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? And what was that about? Did you ever see or did she tell you?

01:42:34 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I didn't see the text, but she told me, she was like, oh, my ex is sick and I have to leave and I have to go bring him soup. That's what she said. I was like, we're in the middle of a date and that's your ex-boyfriend.

01:42:49 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

So she left the date early?

01:42:51 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 2:

yeah like she like she straight up and got up she was i mean like almost like it was like an emergency and i was like i mean i don't even know if it's like real i'm like okay if you just like maybe you like didn't like me in person but like just be honest about it but all right now here's

01:43:07 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 1:

the weird part of this she contacted us to find out what it was that's making him not call back because she wanted to have another date. To me, that would be the obvious of what she did. For sure. Never mention this. Do you think that she realized, uh-oh, that's what he's going to say and it's going to make her look bad and that's the reason why she didn't come on with us?

01:43:29 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely.

01:43:30 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, so let's turn this around a little bit here and let's ask the question of the listeners. Is it ever a good thing to be out on a date with somebody and have your person you're on a date with get a text message from their ex. You could just stop there. Right.

01:43:51 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Because with what happened here, for her to end the date, to rush over to be by her ex's side, I mean, that's very obviously a red flag.

01:44:01 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 1:

Let me give you another situation here, and this is hypothetical, okay, Sean? So I'm not discounting yours, but maybe listeners can call in on this one and tell us if this has ever happened to you. Has anybody ever in the middle of the date had to leave early for a reason or had a date leave early for a reason? And what was their reasoning? And we got to judge whether or not we think that that was viable or not viable.

01:44:25 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 3:

Because, by the way, Sean, I think if she just didn't like you and wanted the date to end early, it would have been like, oh, my best friend, blah, blah, blah. My mom, something happened to my mom. This just seems this doesn't seem like a lie at all. It seems like a very real thing, which I don't think is a good very real thing. Yeah, this isn't the lie you come up with. You know? Yeah. Right, right, right.

01:44:46 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. According to our producer, they think that they might have gotten... They're talking...

01:45:00 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 2:

But she doesn't know if she wants to go on the air with us Sean, Ellie So we might actually have her before the end of this thing Bianca, what's going on?

01:45:08 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi Good morning

01:45:10 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 2:

Say hello to Sean

01:45:12 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Sean

01:45:13 - 01:45:14 | Speaker 2:

Poor guy

01:45:14 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 4:

I know, I totally agree I think you're getting played From a female standpoint

01:45:21 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 2:

So do you think that She really just wanted to leave the date early?

01:45:28 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

Honestly for her to give that much information to be comfortable enough to say my ex is sick i have to go there's something still going on between them there's still an open line of communication that's something that i just would not trust and if you were gonna lie i would be a way better liar than that i would never bring an ex i would say like you know something else family or somebody

01:45:53 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, dad or somebody Yeah, Deshaun, comment from you What's up, it's Mojo in the Morning This is our Mojo in the Morning misfit, Deshaun

01:46:01 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Deshaun Hey, hey, good morning, good morning

01:46:04 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I agree I'm like, I don't know if I'm comfortable If you're like that tight with your ex That you're like leaving a date with like Possibly someone you're going to be in a future relationship with To like, you know, go back to the well That's just like, that's not cool with me That's why I didn't hit her back

01:46:19 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 2:

Say hi to Deshaun, Sean Sean meets Deshaun. Deshaun meets Sean.

01:46:24 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 5:

What's up, man? Hey, first of all, there is no future for y'all. Let's get that out of the way. Another thing is she's still banging the ax. She is digmatized.

01:46:36 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 2:

Did you just say digmatized? She's digmatized.

01:46:39 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 7:

Never heard that.

01:46:40 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hold on, Deshaun. Hold on, Deshaun. She's on with us. Hold on a second. Deshaun, you stay right there. And Sean. Ellie. hello are you okay with being on the radio alley yes sure thing say hello to sean hi sean wow wow hi um hey also say hello to dashawn

01:47:05 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 5:

hi dashawn hey hey hey i guess that egg got you whipped off

01:47:12 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 6:

no no we're really we're really just friends you know um he's a really nice person it didn't work out there's not there's not a future there but um you know i don't see there being anything wrong with staying friends with somebody you know if you're dating someone you should have things in

01:47:31 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 2:

common you should have something like sean sean's a little upset by this whole thing that's all right that's okay i gotta sorry about that that's okay no no no i get it listen man you're hurt by

01:47:45 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 7:

the whole deal. Ellie, here's my question for you. What's the F, Ellie? It's cool to be friends with your ex, for sure. But didn't he have other people that he could call to bring him soup, and couldn't you say, hey, you know, I'm sorry you're not feeling great, but I'm on a date right now, or I'm busy right now, and I can't bring you anything.

01:48:06 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 6:

She didn't want to bring him soup. Of his group of friends, like, I'm the person who, like, is closest by, like, just where he lives in the area. You were busy, and it's okay to say no. Yeah, but also, like, it's a first date. I don't think it's, like, that big of a deal being rescheduled or cut it short. Like, it's a first, you know, you don't even know if it's going to work out yet. Like, I understand. Like, I'm really sorry, Sean, that I hurt you, but also to me, it's like, it's not, it's the first one, you know? Yeah, but that's a first impression. We don't even know each other really yet. Yeah. And to me, it's like, you know, this is someone who, like, even if it was just a friend, I would do this just for a friend. It's not because he's my ex that I did. It's not because I used to date him.

01:48:54 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 3:

I would do this for a friend. How sick was he? I mean, can't he order soup on Grubhub?

01:48:59 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, why could he not do that? Why could he not just have it delivered to him?

01:49:05 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 6:

I mean, it's like a huge drink of money.

01:49:07 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Because why? Because you are dick-matized.

01:49:11 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 7:

Or you could have sent it to him on DoorDash or GrabHub.

01:49:15 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Right, Deshaun? Right, Deshaun?

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 7:

Yes, man.

01:49:19 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 5:

Digmatize.

01:49:20 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, man. Hold on a second real quick. DJ had the similar thing happen. DJ, what happened to you on a date?

01:49:26 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I was on a first date with a girl, and we were actually just left the restaurant, and we're on our way to see a movie. And her ex called her phone, and she answered it on speakerphone. And it was just, apparently they were best friends for a while, He was just like, yeah.

01:49:44 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

We let digmatize slide. That's why this keeps happening. Oh, you think that that's the problem? Okay. All right. Well, you know what? But digmatize is a toy. You can buy it at Toyology. So that's a really good thing. You should go check it out. Okay, so do not swear anymore, DJ. So she answers it on.

01:50:00 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 6:

speaker she answers it on speaker and then you're sitting there going what's going on here why is

01:50:08 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 2:

this happening yeah at first i'm just like why is she answering her phone from someone who she said before was her ex and she had been texting back and forth for a while and i was just already kind of irked at that point but didn't want to say anything because so far it's been great and she He answers the phone on speaker, and he's just like, yeah, I'm bored. Let's hang out. And she's like, oh, okay. And then she looked at me, and she's like, sorry, I got it going. I'm like, I'm thinking. Oh, my God.

01:50:37 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 4:

And that was it, right? Yeah. That was it for you guys.

01:50:41 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 6:

Wow. That's unbelievable. Yep, that was it. And women think that guys are bad people, huh? Huh? Right? I think they're worse than us. I think they're worse than us. I think they're worse than us. Absolutely. I don't want to hear it anymore. All right, well, listen. No, exactly. Guys, just do it behind your back and get busted with the War of the Roses.

01:51:08 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 5:

Deshaun, you're on fire today.

01:51:10 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 6:

Hey, second date update here. I'm assuming that we're not going to have another date here. Sean, you do not want to go out with Ellie anymore, right? No, definitely not. All right, Ellie. Ellie, you're stuck with the sick guy. Is he feeling better, by the way?

01:51:24 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's doing a lot better.

01:51:26 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm just making sure.

01:51:27 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 3:

I bet he is.

01:51:30 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 6:

A friendly note to the competition. You all can kiss our asses. I feel better. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. What you got training this hour, Shannon?

01:51:41 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 5:

Well, the coronation over the weekend. King Charles III and Queen Camilla were crowned at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday. I mean, that is her. That's her title now.

01:51:52 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Call her the Queen Consort.

01:51:54 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 5:

Queen Consort.

01:51:55 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 1:

The coronation oath has stood for centuries and is enshrined in law. Are you willing to take the oath?

01:52:04 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 8:

I am willing. I am willing.

01:52:07 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 5:

Part of it to me, it was like a show.

01:52:10 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:52:11 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 5:

It was like a show. It was about 90 minutes long, by the way. It's like a Monty Python.

01:52:16 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 6:

Yes. That's exactly what it sounds like.

01:52:18 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Yes, a skit. Yeah. So it was about 90 minutes. the king was crowned first then Camilla was crowned following the coronation the king and queen left Westminster Abbey to take part in the big coronation procession in which they headed back to Buckingham Palace and got on that balcony with the entire family minus Harry and Meghan and were waving to everybody Harry by the way sitting in the third row of Westminster Abbey during the ceremony and if you watched where was Prince Andrew? he was there I just don't know what row

01:52:51 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 3:

I saw him in a car. I was going to say, I saw him in a car on the way there. He got booed.

01:52:55 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Good point.

01:52:57 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I just want to know, does he have better seats than Harry?

01:53:01 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, at least you could see Harry. True. Very true. You know? Very true. But this thing cost about $125 million, which there are definitely some taxpayers in Great Britain that are like, okay, can't even afford food for my family, but okay. And then yesterday there was that big coronation concert that was broadcast live from Windsor Castle featuring Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger, Lionel Richie, Tom Cruise made an appearance in a pre-recorded skit from the cockpit of a plane. And then the King made a surprise appearance via satellite on American Idol with Katy Perry. Are you serious? Yeah.

01:53:41 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 6:

Really?

01:53:42 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 5:

Do you have that clip up there?

01:53:43 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 6:

Yes, the King on Idol.

01:53:45 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 7:

It was incredible and we're here for the coronation concert at Windsor

01:53:50 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 1:

Castle. Goodness. Surprise I have a surprise It was all that long

01:53:56 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 8:

because I just wanted to check how much how long you'll be using this room for

01:54:01 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

We have to give the room

01:54:04 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 8:

up right away. I just wanted to check Thank you so much for coming. No but thank you so much for your brilliant performance

01:54:09 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 5:

Ever since somebody said he had sausage fingers that's all I can look at Bro, it's bad. His fingers. It's so bad.

01:54:17 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 6:

So sausage fingers mean that you have bad circulation? Is that what it means?

01:54:20 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people think that he has a pretty severe heart condition.

01:54:23 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 6:

Well, then that means William better be prepared, right?

01:54:27 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

I think a lot of people would be very excited about that.

01:54:29 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I wonder if Harry would go to William's.

01:54:33 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that is a great question.

01:54:35 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 6:

It'd be interesting.

01:54:37 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Ed Sheeran performing a couple of surprise shows outside of various locations. One I know happened outside of his pop-up shop in New York City this past weekend. A performance that comes just a few days after a federal jury in New York City found that he did not rip off Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On for his own song, Thinking Out Loud. He actually did a few of them. He did one in West Hollywood.

01:55:00 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

He did one in Dallas where he rolled up in an ice cream truck. And he was speaking about that court case, by the way. He was speaking very specifically about his interaction with Kathy Griffin Townsend, who is the daughter of the co-writer of Let's Get It On, Ed Townsend.

01:55:19 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 3:

Kathy Griffin Townsend and her family all came up to me afterwards, gave me a hug and said, we believe you. And yeah, we're good. There's nothing malicious in it. It just was something that I think spun out of control and just ended up, you know, no one talked to each other basically and now we're in this situation. But I went in there with my heart in the right place and she went in there with her heart in the right place and, you know, truth came out.

01:55:42 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 1:

And Mojo, you asked this question several times. Was he really being serious when he was saying if he was found liable, he was going to quit music forever?

01:55:48 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 3:

People didn't believe me when I said that, but it really would have taken the joy out of... I never said I would stop being a musician, a performer, but i would have stopped writing songs for a while and probably just sung covers or you know have another writer write it or something but like yeah i don't know for me being creative is going in the studio put my heart on my sleeve and releasing a song and it would have just taken

01:56:07 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

the joy out of that i wonder if he would have done any of that promotion that he did if he would have lost probably not right because he how do you how do you get upbeat about doing something like that

01:56:16 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 1:

right after yeah uh tiger woods's ex-girlfriend the one that's causing all this drama erica herman is her name, is now accusing him of sexual harassment. According to a court filing in Florida on Friday, Tiger is accused of pursuing a sexual relationship with Erica while she worked for him. Then she says he forced her to sign an NDA or said she was going to be fired from her job. This court document said in part when he became disgruntled with their sexual relationship, he tricked her into leaving her home, locked her out, took her cash, pets and personal possessions and tried to strong-harm her into signing a different NDA. A boss imposing different work conditions on his employee because of their sexual relationship is sexual harassment. This document also alleges a scheme that was used against Erica last year when Tiger said, Hey, I am going to send you on an all-expenses-paid trip to this luxurious resort in the Bahamas. She was driven to the airport, and then she was asked to speak to Tiger's attorney and that's when all this stuff went down. She is suing, I believe, for $30 million is the number that I heard. And lastly, an evening manager of a hotel in Tennessee was just arrested for sneaking into a man's room and sucking on his toes. The manager made his own key card, snuck into this guy's room. It was like 4 or 5 in the morning. The guest telling police he woke up to his toes in the man's mouth, and so he confronted him. The manager's excuse was that he smelled smoke coming from inside this man's room and went inside to check on him. The funny thing was nobody else in that hotel smelled any sort of smoke that night.

01:57:59 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 2:

So wait, he smelled smoke, so he figured I'll suck his toes.

01:58:02 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 1:

You know, well, while I'm here, he's got good toes, so I'm just going to help myself.

01:58:07 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 2:

Breakfast is not included on your hotel stay, but the sucking of the toes is included. Enjoy.

01:58:12 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be fun Have you ever partied with us before?

02:00:20 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 4:

I haven't, this is my first time

02:00:21 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 3:

Let me say this to you You're in trouble because, yeah, well, you're in trouble because we haven't been out in a while and we're all pre-partying beforehand. So we're all going to, yeah. Well, yes, did you see the group, or you were off last week. Check your group text. Shannon group text that she wants us to come over to her house. Now, be honest with me though. The kids aren't going to be around to witness anything, are they? Or are they going to be there with a babysitter?

02:00:51 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 1:

So it actually is my day to have them, but they're going to grandma's house As soon as they get off the bus

02:00:56 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 3:

The whole nature

02:01:01 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 1:

Of people

02:01:03 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Being invited over and then next thing you know It's like we're having to Watch the kids while she's still putting makeup on And stuff like that Would not be fair to us It would not We'll see you Hold on one second we'll get your information from you You had the What you called The most interesting babysitter situation

02:01:24 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 1:

over the weekend well she was just she was a phenomenal babysitter okay um and so this past week i could not find like normally i have my list of people like did you and chelsea have this you'd have your list and you'd kind of like go down your list you know of like people who would watch your kids or who have watched your kids you know like i always ask andrew my ex-husband for like he gets first right of refusal is what we say um with each other so they either go with dad

02:01:51 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Or they go with grandparents. Grandparents.

02:01:53 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 1:

And then my old babysitter who's no longer with us because she got a different job. They love her. So I go to her next and then all these other people.

02:02:02 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:02:02 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 1:

So everybody had something. So I was using somebody that was new. I've never used her before. She was recommended via somebody in my neighborhood. She was so sweet. The kids absolutely had the best time ever. but when I came home my house it looked like a bomb went off it was a disaster now I fully understand it is not my babysitter's job to clean up my house when I'm gone but I did I do always feel like it should it should look similar to the manner in which I left it in right yeah this was like I every single game toy they made food I think they baked I know they made popcorn it was Just blankets. They made like a blanket mountain. It was all everywhere.

02:02:52 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 3:

If you pull something out, you put it away. That was the rule that we always had.

02:02:56 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 1:

My children should know that as well. So I'm not, you know, Lucy and Smith are old enough to understand that as well.

02:03:01 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea would always be the person that would talk to the babysitters. And she would always say to the babysitters, here's the deal. The kids need to clean up after themselves, but they're not going to do it unless you tell them.

02:03:10 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, unless you tell them or help them or whatever. So I'm like, oh man, I mean this. Because then instantly I'm stressed out. I have to clean up all this stuff before I go to bed Because that's just me and my crazy brain The cherry on top though was after I paid her And went to walk her to the door To make sure she got out to her car I went to go upstairs And there was dog poop all over the stairs

02:03:30 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god

02:03:31 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 1:

That was not fresh by the way

02:03:33 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't like my dog did it I don't care I'm not cleaning up your dog's poop If I'm babysitting I'm absolutely not doing it But Megan

02:03:44 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 1:

She didn't.

02:03:45 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 2:

My dog poops Tootsie Rolls, by the way. They're like so itty-bitty.

02:03:48 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 1:

I do not care.

02:03:50 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 3:

But wait, here's the thing. The dog poops because she's not monitoring, she's not watching the dog, and she needs to take the dog out, and if she's, I would go back, I would go back to your cameras. Do you have cameras in your house?

02:04:02 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, I have one, but the one that's in that living room is really for, it's like the outside of the house.

02:04:07 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 3:

I bet you were sleeping on the couch the entire time.

02:04:09 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 1:

No, the kids said they had the best night. She played with them. They destroyed the house. Which is awesome. It's funny, because I'd rather have that than a babysitter that just sat there on her phone. So I feel kind of silly complaining, because it's like, what's worse?

02:04:26 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 4:

I've always told my mom that we had the best time with, her name was Carrie, our babysitter Carrie, because we got to do whatever we wanted to do.

02:04:34 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 1:

Did Carrie at least make your house look livable before your mom came home?

02:04:41 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 2:

That's not their responsibility. Their responsibility was to keep the kids alive. We're the kids alive. Boom, she fulfilled all of her responsibilities.

02:04:49 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 3:

Megan, we used to have, how old is this girl that watched?

02:04:54 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 1:

She was college.

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. We used to, so I'm a big believer in this.

02:05:00 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 1:

The younger that you hire the babysitters, a lot of times you get that. The older the babysitters are, like the ones that are a little bit older than that, you get the more, I'll clean up after it, unless they are Chaldean, like Lydia. So we had a babysitter, Darlene. We would leave, go out for the night, come home, and our house was cleaner when we left or when we came home than it was when we left.

02:05:26 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 5:

But you didn't hire a cleaner. I understand. You hired a babysitter. And that's what I said I don't expect them to clean It's just I feel like Maybe the house should be the same It should be the same

02:05:37 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not because your kids were entertained And had a good time and you were able to go out And enjoy your night I feel like the cost of you going out to enjoy your night Was a little bit of a mess when you came home And happy kids

02:05:50 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

Megan I'm sorry but you will Never be allowed To babysit ever for my kids And I know you want to

02:05:57 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God, I'm so devastated by this information. But I will say without a doubt, my brother is the best babysitter that has ever existed on the face of the planet.

02:06:06 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 1:

Boy babysitters are the best.

02:06:07 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

He made really good money. The kids loved him. He was so good at it. He made really good money doing it because people hyped him up so much. But you best believe that house was not clean, but those kids were tired out and exhausted and had a great time, and parents stayed out late, and everybody won. And I feel like there's an exchange there, and sometimes it's a messy house.

02:06:27 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 1:

My sons loved boy babysitters because the boy babysitters would take them outside, play sports with them. They were always having fun. But Megan would be like the worst babysitter. Listen to her. How dare? This is not my responsibility.

02:06:44 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 5:

I think Megan would be a super fun babysitter. But my house would probably look the same. Yeah, your house would be destroyed, but guess what?

02:06:49 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 4:

I underrated your fridge.

02:06:52 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 1:

Your kids would crap on the floor along with them.

02:06:55 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 4:

No, but truly, I'm not picking up your dog's poop. If your dog poops in the house, that is not my problem.

02:07:01 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

So if I have a baby in a diaper, are you not going to change my baby's poop?

02:07:04 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 4:

No, that's absolutely different. That's what I'm there for. I'm signing up for that. I'm not signing up to clean up after your dog had an accident.

02:07:11 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Will you take the dog outside when the dog says, I got to go poop?

02:07:14 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:07:15 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, obviously this babysitter didn't. Kim, what's going on?

02:07:18 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Okay, I love you guys, love you guys. But, Shannon, okay, I wanted to tell you it's not the babysitter's job to clean up your house. However, I think I have two daughters. I think you should give instructions before you leave, you know, and you tell the kids to make sure they clean up their messes. And if you want her to assist in that, you can ask her, you know, would you assist the children in cleaning up their mess when they're finished playing with their toys? But it's not her job to clean up the house.

02:07:49 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 1:

So Shannon should have given a more specific direction that the house shouldn't look like somebody destroyed it?

02:07:55 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I mean, no, whatever is dealing with the kids. Like, if the kids want to play with their toys, I'm fine with that. However, you know how you tell the kids, clean up, clean up. Everybody. Everybody. Clean up after yourself, yes. So tell the kids you have to clean up after yourself.

02:08:13 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 1:

We had a babysitter one time. She came one time and one time only And she would leave The leftover pizza that we ordered From the pizza place all over the counter With pizza sauce all over the counter She would lay on the couch And destroy the couch

02:08:28 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 3:

Give specific instructions Shannon that if they're eating You want them to eat In the kitchen, not in the living room Give them instructions of what you expect Especially when you're home Whatever the kids do when you're home And what you don't allow them to do when you're home, then that's what they can't do when you're not home.

02:08:47 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call, Kim. Take care of yourself. What's up, Amy?

02:08:52 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So, you know, I guess I feel like for the babysitters, it's an unspoken rule. Whenever I babysat, I would, you know, after the kids went to bed, I would do the dishes in the sink. I would put all the toys away. And if there's great food in the house, you never eat the last piece. I feel like you can say these things. You can tell them what you expect, but I don't know. I think she'll be a great babysitter in the future, but maybe she's not the perfect one.

02:09:26 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 1:

See, I think the food thing, I'll tell you this, Amy, the food thing is you can have anything you want. I'll let you eat anything in my house. Matter of fact, you can shop in my cupboard. As long as you watch my kids and do what Shannon said. doesn't have to be leave the house at least lean half normal yes yes alex what's going on

02:09:46 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

um i was just calling to say that when i was getting was older babysitting i was taught you leave the house the way it was when you got there or cleaner so i agree it should be at least

02:10:00 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 6:

the way that that you left it and maybe that's why that it's just like kind of instilled in me i mean i was a babysitter from the time i turned 13 on and i think maybe it was my mom that's that said that as well so i guess i've just always believed like and expected that to be fair

02:10:14 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 5:

that's that's how i was raised but i will say the babysitters that i've hired they are not raised that way anymore oh really i don't know yeah i have this is a generational thing

02:10:28 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 2:

These babysitters and Megan Are part of this generation Listener Megan What's going on?

02:10:37 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi Mojo, how are you guys doing today?

02:10:38 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

We're good, what's happening?

02:10:41 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 3:

I disagree with Megan On this topic, sorry Megan I know my name's Megan But I just feel like if you're a babysitter You want to get asked to come back So you want to leave a good impression I'm cleaning up the whole house Kids make a mess, I'm cleaning up Obviously if they're old enough they should clean it up But I think you should leave the house cleaner than when you left it.

02:11:02 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 2:

Hear that, Megan?

02:11:04 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:11:06 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 2:

I disagree.

02:11:07 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 7:

She's gone quiet on us. No, I also feel, well, first of all, y'all parents are scary out here. I love that. You're so miffed. You just dropped your phone. I did. I kind of threw it. I don't know. I also think that in the few times that I have babysat, there were like five kids. So, in what world do you think I can manage five children and clean up after everything? Like, it's just not going to happen.

02:11:33 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, it's hard, but, like, I don't know. If you want to get asked back to babysit again or, like, house sit or dog sit or whatever, like, I would just clean it up, you know? Also, who wants to get invited back? No.

02:11:47 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Danielle, what's up?

02:11:48 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 4:

hey uh so you know when i babysit like younger kids especially those who you take a nap for the day i clean up and their house when they get there because it keeps me busy um that and also like if they're older kids then i kind of teach them to get one thing out at a time before i can

02:12:11 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

get something else out so that way it's not what are you doing uh friday night for naughty mom's night out. Shannon needs a new babysitter.

02:12:18 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, Grandma's watching them this Friday, but I could use some more.

02:12:21 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I know. I'm not doing anything.

02:12:25 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 2:

How much do you get paid an hour to babysit?

02:12:29 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 4:

I do best on babysitting. It's for a friend. I don't worry about it. What? Or for a family member. I don't know. I've never really thought about it.

02:12:41 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We need to become friends with her.

02:12:43 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Because, you know, I teach them, like, get one thing out at a time. Like, I do my client work. All right.

02:12:49 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 2:

Do you mind if we do a background check on you to make sure you're not a little crazy?

02:12:55 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah. My work already does that. So, I'm clear.

02:12:57 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. I like that. She doesn't get paid. She babysits for her friends. Yeah. She picks up and makes the kids pick up.

02:13:07 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 1:

Perfect babysitter right there. That's right there. Awesome.

02:13:12 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning Show. You know, I want to spend just a couple minutes talking about this because of I just could not imagine as a dad. And I know, Shannon, with your children and Mike with yours, you could not imagine no matter what the ages of your children ever having yourself outlive them. And I don't know if you saw the news that came out yesterday, but Dan Gilbert, who's always been a friend of the show. Dan Gilbert is a guy who, you know, spent a lot of his own money to rebuild the city of Detroit. He is a guy that, you know, has loved the community for a very, very long time. He's gone through tragedy himself by, you know, having a stroke. And now I know he's in a wheelchair. And this family has definitely had their times of good times, but has definitely had their time of really bad times. Yesterday, their 26-year-old son, Nick Gilbert, who is a really good friend of this radio show, Nick died. Nick had been battling since he was a young kid, since he was a baby, NF, which I don't even know how to pronounce the thing. Neurofibromatosis. Thank you for saying it. But it is something that causes you to have tumors growing on you. And I'm not going to say he lost his battle with with NF, I'm going to say that he decided, you know, and it was time for him to, to kind of, you know, go to a better place.

02:15:00 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 3:

place and he ended up passing away and i just feel for dan and for his wife jennifer and for their children for you know nick's uh um siblings because um you know we would always hear stories about nick all the time because nick was a very very you know out in the forefront uh type of a

02:15:21 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 1:

of a young man it's such a personality and if you were a calves fan you knew exactly who nick was

02:15:27 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he was awesome. He was actually the reason why the Cavs ended up getting that number one pick, which was Kyrie Irving, who they ended up picking. But so our condolences go out to Dan and to Jennifer and to Gracie, Grant, AJ and Nash on Nick's passing. And it was just a few months ago that Nick, you know, and I were just in communication. We would talk fairly often every time I saw him. I actually would see him all the time. And I used to actually say to Nick all the time, you are like Zach Galifianakis to me from The Hangover. Because every time I see you, you're always make me laugh and you are always in a happy mood. And anytime I would ever see Zach Galifianakis on television at all, he makes me laugh and he puts me in a good mood. And I think a lot was I knew what Nick's heart was all about. And I knew that he lived life to the fullest and I knew his friends and his brothers and his sister's friends loved him dearly. So I want to play for you guys just something real quick because this says it all. We had Nick on with us in studio the day after the Cavs got the first pick in the draft. Do you guys remember that when Nick was the guy that was picking the card out and he was the good luck charm and then he did it to bring awareness to NF, which is what he battled? Nick came back from Cleveland, came into our Farmington Hill studio, had him here and then had his dad, Dan Gilbert, on the phone with us. Dan didn't even realize that he came into the studio because Nick actually skipped school to come and hang out with us. I thought that was really special that you said about Nick. Nick is your hero?

02:17:06 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, Nick, you know, Nick's a special kid. He's obviously got a lot of challenges his entire life and he's overcome a lot of odds and a lot of things. And Dan, when did

02:17:14 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 3:

you guys, when did you and your wife find out that Nick had this?

02:17:18 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, he was 15 months old. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic condition. One in 3,000 people are born with it. Nick has, he's had brain surgery, removing tumors. They're typically benign, but they can be, you know, otherwise. Sure. His has been benign his whole life, but he's had a handle, he's had four rounds of chemotherapy, and brain surgery's overcome it all. He's never complained a day in his life, and he's really been an example for everybody. We're real proud of him, and obviously he's got the odds going for him in a lot of ways.

02:17:47 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

I want to ask you a question, because, you know, here you are. We see you in the light of this guy that, you know, started this company from nothing with Quicken Loans and then ended up buying this franchise, and, you know, you pretty much have accomplished a ton of stuff business-wise in your life. I'm assuming that Nick's conditions that you guys have dealt with, you and your wife have dealt with, and you sit there and think to yourself, man, why me, why me? And that's got to be some of the toughest things as a dad to see your son go through, right?

02:18:16 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is, but, you know, when you have a kid who himself doesn't say, why me, You know, it's real hard for a parent to say it as well, right? And he never has said it. And, you know, it's just an example for everybody. I mean, you know, wealth or money, it's really meaningless in the long run here, right? It's just, you know, none of that's going to buy you health. And so the point of the matter is that it's all about, you know, people, and it's all about doing the right thing. And, you know, and it just, it was so great to see him last night up there because it was like serendipity, you know. It all came together, and we're proud of him. And, you know, he raised a lot of money in something that maybe you wouldn't think normally is something that you do it with. So, you know, there's a lot of threads and things and ideas that could be right around you that you just don't even realize. If you think about it, you can leverage it into good things.

02:19:00 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 3:

Dan Gilbert on the phone with us, and Nick Gilbert, his 14-year-old son, in studio with us. Nick, what does it feel like to you to find out that your dad thinks that you're his hero?

02:19:10 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

It feels really good. I mean, as I said last night, what's not to like? I love it.

02:19:17 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 3:

What a great kid. Our prayers again to the family. I can't imagine what they're going through, and I can't imagine what Jennifer is going through because she's had to stay strong with even Dan in his battle. We'll be right back.

02:19:34 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 1:

You are listening to Mojo in the Morning.

02:19:37 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. coming up before we end the show the food that you cannot eat while you're driving i will tell you about that and also on the way in just a little bit a plea we need to put out a plea

02:20:00 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 1:

For Lydia, who is always there for you, the listener, by getting you prizes and answering your phone calls and your comments and stuff like that, Lydia is one of the people here. She needs help, and she's actually been sending emails to Big Gretch. So we'll talk about that coming up here in just a little bit. Why has she been emailing the governor? Well, we will find out coming up here in just a little bit. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, it does not surprise me that you would sleep through something, but what was it that you slept through this time?

02:20:35 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, I felt so terrible. I absolutely slept through plans that I had with my dad. We were supposed to go run errands together. I woke up four hours late. Oh, that sounds glorious.

02:20:49 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it does, really.

02:20:50 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 3:

It was and it wasn't. I mean, I felt really good, but then you also immediately wake up with an adrenaline rush and regret. So, like, you don't feel good when you wake up late to something. You feel terrible, and it ruins all the good sleep you got.

02:21:03 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 1:

Did your dad try to call you? Was he trying to get in touch with you?

02:21:06 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 3:

He was like, hey, just reach out to me if you still want to go. And it was, like, two hours later. I'm just now rolling. I'm so sorry. The store we were planning on going to was closed by the time.

02:21:17 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. So he didn't think anything bad happened to you? No. He just assumed right away that you're sleeping.

02:21:23 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 3:

He knows me. And if he was really that worried, I mean, he does have a key to my house, so he could come over and check.

02:21:29 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 2:

So he doesn't have to call the Toledo Police Department, like someone I know did, to make sure that you were alive.

02:21:35 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 3:

Let's just say after that incident, we had copies of my apartment key mates, and it didn't happen again.

02:21:41 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 1:

You've slept through a lot of stuff. You've slept through that, obviously, where we're literally barreling down the door and trying to knock down your door.

02:21:50 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 3:

If people don't know, the cops had to wake me up in my own bedroom before because I was so late to the show.

02:21:56 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 1:

Haven't you slept when you, didn't you say one time on the air that you slept through having something that you were cooking on the stove?

02:22:02 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. I've set my oven on fire three times, three separate occasions. We love that. It's amazing that I'm still alive, honestly, at this point because I sleep in my car so much that you would think something bad would have happened there. I've been woken up by cops in my car as well. But then I used to like oversleep for job interviews when I was younger. That was really terrible. Woke up crying one day. I sleep through everything important. I was supposed to teach a class at the University of Toledo. Slept through it. What is wrong with me? Yeah, in the parking lot. I was there. I showed up an hour early and then slept through the class in the parking lot.

02:22:37 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 1:

So you were sitting in the parking lot. You got there early. Thought you'd get a little shut eye.

02:22:43 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. Was fully sitting up, mouth agape behind the steering wheel. I did not plan on falling asleep

02:22:50 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

before that class. That's when you walk into the class and go there's your first lesson kids sleep. Yeah get your sleep ahead of time. It's funny that you say that because I did an appearance thingy at Planet Fitness like went out there for a promotion to remember raise money for Make-A-Wish and I got to the Planet Fitness in Canton early and I parked and then I said you know what I'm just going to sit here and listen to music thinking to myself that's not a good idea so i ended up setting three alarms on my phone just for the the sake of not falling asleep because i've had it happen to me before where i've fallen asleep and in my car if i fall asleep with the car on it if you're letting it run for a long period of time idle it will shut off on you and i fell asleep for such a long time that my car shut out off on me at that uh that time and thank god that my alarm went uh went off but You actually slept through your...

02:23:47 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

I sleep through alarms. Ask me how many alarm clocks I have set for the show. How many? Well, I have three different alarm clocks and then my phone and about 40 alarm sets. Do you still have the bed shaker in your new house? I have an alarm clock made for people who are deaf and it shakes my bed, but it doesn't shake my bed enough, so I have to put it in my pillow and not my mattress. That is insane.

02:24:09 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

I am a very heavy sleeper. I am so the opposite. I'm such a light... Like, Lucy could sneeze in her bedroom across the hall, and I am awake, and that's it.

02:24:17 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 3:

No, my dad took me downstairs in the basement one time during a tornado, didn't wake up, woke up the next day in the basement. Yeah, I don't wake up for anything.

02:24:25 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 1:

So the bed just shakes on you, or the pillow shakes on you when you do it?

02:24:29 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's called the Sonic Boom.

02:24:32 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 1:

That's wild.

02:24:33 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

That's such a great name. And it will.

02:24:35 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, sounds like it could be something else.

02:24:36 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 3:

So the alarm clock is an alarm clock that's extra loud.

02:24:39 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 2:

She probably got that too, Mike. It shakes the bed, and it has lights on it that flash in your eyes, and I don't wake up for it. Wait, can you send a picture of this to the group text when you get home? I have to see what it looks like.

02:24:53 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

It sounds terrifying. I love it, though. I love that idea, don't you? You know where it's a place I fall asleep a lot in the morning after?

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 2:

I wake up, I go right to the toilet where I sit on the toilet and that's when I send Shannon like 8,000

02:25:06 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 4:

Dirty stories. I always know when you're... Well, explain that.

02:25:09 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Dirty on the 30 stories. Oh, God.

02:25:11 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sending you like dirty stories. You send me like news stuff and dirty stories and I get them like, I really do like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom in my email account. And I'm always like, oh, he's sitting on his co-toilet.

02:25:24 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I'll find myself falling asleep on the toilet because it's my comfort spot. I was telling Shannon I could not fall asleep last night guys for some reason i had like this anxiety going of all the stuff i've got going on in the next couple of weeks with family stuff and work stuff and i ended up having to get up and go sit on the toilet because that was the only place that could give me and i didn't have to go to the bathroom i just sat on the toilet with my my pants off and for some reason it uh it helped my anxiety i'm sorry sorry megan just sent megan just sent the photo of the face oh it

02:25:56 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 4:

is? Here we go. I got distracted. No, that's

02:25:58 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

okay. Oh, there it is. Yeah. That's the alarm that

02:26:01 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 4:

wakes it up. I mean, that alarm clock looks like the alarm clock, or looks like the clock in, like, that show 24 that counted down to, like, the end of the whatever the world. Yeah.

02:26:11 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 5:

I didn't watch it. Absolutely. It looks like it's from a movie. Do you see the vibrating pad and how it's off to the side? Yeah. That's supposed to be for your entire mattress. You're supposed to put it under your mattress. Okay, question for you. Have you ever used that vibrating pad for anything else? Oh, my God. No. Yes.

02:26:26 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 7:

True or false. The answer is yes. Absolutely not. No, if you actually felt it, it would not be comfortable to use for that.

02:26:32 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I have rubbed off on Shannon.

02:26:34 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 7:

I know. What's happening to me?

02:26:35 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 2:

No, that's good. I like that. That's all right. I'm so disappointed in myself.

02:26:38 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 7:

It's nice to know that every time I do a topic, somebody asks me a very sexually explicit question recently, and I'm the bad one around here.

02:26:47 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 2:

Did your dad think that you were sleeping, or did your dad think that you were doing something else?

02:26:52 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 6:

Oh, he definitely knew. Okay, why are you asking weird questions?

02:26:56 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say anything else other than I thought maybe you were out with somebody else, like you were out with Jillian or your brother or something.

02:27:02 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. I'm super sleeping.

02:27:04 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 2:

What's up, John?

02:27:06 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm going to try you guys.

02:27:08 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 2:

We're good, man. Megan slept through hanging out with her dad over the weekend.

02:27:13 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I used to, this was years back, I would set a few alarms to wake up. I have times where I would hit the alarm and stand on my snooze button. Do that, I'll get five more minutes of sleep. I'll wake up about 30 minutes an hour later, have to rush and get ready for work.

02:27:32 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's the worst. That's the worst. And you have to be so careful because if your finger just goes a little bit lower, you hit stop instead of snooze if you have an iPhone, which I have done many times before.

02:27:43 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I try not to hit snooze because the moment I hit snooze, I know that that's the moment I'm going to get the phone call from KP saying, where are you? You know, that I'll get the, you know, you're late for work because I've done that numerous times before and gotten myself burned off of it. You know, what's funny is it doesn't surprise me, too, that you were sleeping this weekend because for some reason it was a long week last week. And I think a lot had to do with the fact that we were busy, but also the weather was kind of different. And then the weather over the weekend. I don't know about you guys, but are you guys getting affected too by allergies?

02:28:21 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I think that's what's going on with my scratchy throat. It has to be allergies at this point. I feel fine. I'm not screaming or anything. It's driving me crazy. And my asthma is so bad too.

02:28:33 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 2:

We open up the windows and I woke up like I couldn't even move my eyes. Like, I couldn't even open my eyes because it was so bad. The allergies were so bad. What's up, Chuck?

02:28:45 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

I fell asleep three seats from the gate at the Minneapolis airport. And if somebody from my group didn't walk to the bathroom and see me still sleeping there, I would have missed my flight because they were doing last call.

02:28:56 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. My uncle actually missed his flight. Alcohol was partly to blame. It was in Las Vegas. But nobody woke him up, just sat there. Same thing, like three seats from the gate.

02:29:07 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

That's the worst. I worry about that happening to me, and I worry about that happening to me exactly where it was for you when you're on your way home.

02:29:15 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 3:

And the president of the board of directors took a picture and posted it, and he's the one who moped it.

02:29:20 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 6:

No. That's so disrespectful.

02:29:23 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 2:

He can get away with it. He's the boss. What's the one here? Somebody just said that they fell asleep taking care of themselves. How tired do you have to be to fall asleep while you're in the midst of, they said, fell asleep, woke up with my bullet in my hand. Oh.

02:29:47 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 5:

What?

02:29:49 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that. It's never, it's usually a wake up, isn't it? But I don't know. It's called something. Look it up on Urban Dictionary. I'm pretty sure that's called something. It is.

02:29:56 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 7:

What a weird departure from the original topic.

02:30:00 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 3:

And now I present the most annoying sound in the world. Told you. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Speaking of Taylor.

02:30:19 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Yeah, after there was a pretty significant weather delay in Nashville last night for her eras tour that caused swifties to shelter in place for nearly four hours this was the message that was playing over at nissan stadium all right hold on let me pull that message up what is it where's the goat sounds by the way four hours the show did actually happen at night

02:30:46 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 3:

it was about nine we've received to the sheltered areas that designated by stadium staff in your area. Please move to the covered

02:30:53 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 2:

areas of the concourse. I mean, we've heard this before. It's over to a show and this is happening, but... Fans were already in the stadium when lightning strikes nearby required officials to delay the show. Again, for four hours, fans hung out. Also, yes, the rumors were totally true. Taylor Swift and Maddie Healy from the 1975 are a thing. He was in Nashville with her all weekend long. They were spotted by paparazzi at a couple of different places. He was spotted coming out of the Starbucks that was near her condo they were in the back seat together arriving at her condo at 12 30 yesterday morning after her show a show that he was at by the way hanging out with her besties Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge performed with the opener Phoebe Bridgers for a show um and again we talked about this earlier but just in case you missed it there this has been the case of secret messages back and forth him at his show her at her shows and fans have caught on so during one of her stops in Nashville I think this was Friday night she coyly looked at the camera and mouthed this is about you you know who you are I love you while she was on stage and of course it was caught on video by fans who very quickly realized that Maddie Healy had mouthed those exact same words during his show On May 3rd in the Philippines So everybody's like they're saying They're saying it to each other Which of course that's the case

02:32:18 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 3:

Would you wait outside If you knew for three hours In the rain and pouring rain or four hours Or what would you do

02:32:30 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 2:

If it was Taylor Swift and I paid $800 For a ticket Yes I would

02:32:35 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 3:

Aren't you glad that they decided That they were going to have it at Ford Field in an indoor stadium instead of having it outdoors, just in case.

02:32:43 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 2:

After losing his voice and canceling one of his shows, which led to the cancellation of a bunch of different shows, but the one in Mississippi just minutes before he was supposed to go on stage, Morgan Wallen returned to playing concerts over the weekend, hitting Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Tampa. And he did post a little video to his fans explaining that, yeah, he's feeling better. Thanks for being patient with him.

02:33:06 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 1:

I just want to let you know that we are going to play a show tonight. And all weekend. I wouldn't say I'm 100%, but I'm doing a lot better.

02:33:15 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 2:

Fans still trying to get to the bottom of the story of whether he truly was sick or if there's some sort of alcohol issue that's happening there.

02:33:22 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 3:

That's another one of those shows, too, that everybody's going crazy for that.

02:33:25 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:33:26 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 3:

Wants their tickets. Chelsea told me that I think we're going to see Morgan Wallen.

02:33:31 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, are you?

02:33:32 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because I guess Luke's going and a bunch of friends and stuff are going.

02:33:39 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 2:

Did KP get her ticket, too? She did.

02:33:41 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

02:33:42 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 2:

I know she wanted to go. She's going to?

02:33:44 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. Could KP go and just make sure that my son is safe? Like, I still don't feel comfortable letting him just go to a show like this. I know it's bad because he's going to be going away to college next year. But for some reason, I just feel like he needs to at least have somebody in the building just in case something happens.

02:34:01 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 2:

Machine Gun Kelly slamming Jack Harlow on a new freestyle that sees him rapping over a Jay-Z instrumental. So, the song is called Renegade Freestyle. And really how this all came about was, I want to say it was maybe last week that Jack Harlow dropped this song, They Don't Love It. And he proclaimed himself to be the best white rapper since Eminem. Do you have the Jack Harlow clip? No, this is the MGK one.

02:34:31 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm playing MGK.

02:34:32 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:34:33 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm playing Jack Harlow first and then MGK. All right, here we go. Hold on.

02:34:38 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so Machina and Kelly was like, eh, no.

02:34:54 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

So he put out his own track that seems to be striking back at Jack Harlow's claims. Ugh.

02:35:00 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 4:

Make sure there's no confusions I'm a great white I can eat these barracudas See who I am? You're stupid It's nice to meet you I just put this hole in the ground For you like a soccer creature I see why they call you Jackman You Jackman's whole swag Give Dre kids flow back, man

02:35:15 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know Interesting Why is it that Over an Eminem beat, too? Really?

02:35:20 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 3:

Was it Eminem beat or is that a Jay-Z beat?

02:35:22 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, I guess it's Jay-Z and Eminem Yeah, okay Yeah, yeah, yeah Why can't the white rappers get along with each other? Come on It's unbelievable Have a beef over something Isn't it funny There's room for everybody guys Come on

02:35:38 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 3:

There's too much room Honestly though

02:35:42 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 2:

In the days of In the days of having Tupac and Puffy and stuff Or not Tupac and Puffy Tupac and Biggie Do we really want Jack Harlow and MJKA arguing with each other? I don't know.

02:36:00 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 3:

No, it's so dumb. An update on a story I did last week. Tom Brady is now denying the rumor that he's considering backing out of his $375 million contract with Fox to explore other options. The original report came from that New York Post reporter who said, he's like, I'm going more 49% chance that he does it, 51% chance that he doesn't. Well, Tom Brady denying that in a comment on Sports Illustrated's post on that story, simply writing, fake news. That's all I needed to say. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

02:36:33 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:36:40 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning show. So, remember when you were in school and they would tell you that you should write a letter to, like, your congressperson or your representative or the governor or the mayor? Did they ever do that in your school at all?

02:36:57 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, all the time.

02:36:58 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 2:

Civics class or history class or whatever they called it in your school?

02:37:02 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:37:02 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, our very own Lydia, who is somebody who is awesome, she's great, has been sending a letter to the governor of Michigan, Big Gretch, and we just found out that she's been doing this. Are you emailing her or are you writing a letter letter?

02:37:24 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 1:

So I've written an email to her and I've also written an email to like four other state representatives. So we have Jocelyn Bunsen, John James, Rashida Tlaib. I'm calling on all of them because I want to go to the White House. My cousins and I are planning a trip in July to go see just some historical landmarks. They've never been and I love it there. And I thought, why not go to the White House. So I did some research and it says that you have to contact your state representatives to go. But it feels like I'm getting a closed door no matter where I'm trying. So you're trying

02:38:03 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 2:

to go to the White House to do the tour, which is a great tour. So I got a chance to do that. And actually, believe it or not, I got it doing exactly what you did. I sent a letter to Gary Peters. I remember when you did that. Yeah. And he was great. He actually answered me right away and Said that he would do it And I sent it as a concerned citizen On Mojo in the morning letterhead

02:38:26 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh I was like did you sign Tom Or did you sign it Mojo

02:38:30 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 2:

No no no I signed it Mojo What do you think I'm crazy Come on if there's any opportunity That I can get myself out of this thing

02:38:36 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 3:

So smart

02:38:37 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 2:

Alright so you have sent it to all these people And nobody has answered you so far

02:38:41 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 1:

No and I've even submitted it on their like Contact us forms on their websites Just anyone Even if they have like an assistant or someone who answers their phones.

02:38:51 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

02:38:52 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 1:

Please.

02:38:53 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, it's interesting because Governor Whitmer, let me see here real quick. Governor Whitmer's assistant will call us from time to time and ask if the governor can be on with us because, you know, we're on across the state. You know, we cover from the east side to the west side to every other side you want to know.

02:39:11 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a assistant's info?

02:39:13 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'm going to see. I wonder if I got here. Hold on a second.

02:39:16 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you think I should write a letter, like handwrite it?

02:39:19 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:39:20 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:39:21 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 2:

I think handwriting.

02:39:22 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I think that goes a long way. Yeah. I really do. It doesn't get lost anymore. Here we go. Stacey. Nobody does that, so you would stand out. Stacey.

02:39:30 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 1:

But does anybody check their actual snail mail? I know. Can you imagine how many letters Big Gretch gets?

02:39:37 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to reach out to Stacey LaRoche?

02:39:43 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 4:

LaRoche, yeah.

02:39:43 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 2:

Is it LaRoche or LaRoche? I have no idea.

02:39:46 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 1:

Stacey LaRouche, if you're listening, I'm trying to get in the White House.

02:39:50 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 2:

You're trying to get in the White House?

02:39:51 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 1:

Please help me get in.

02:39:53 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 2:

I wonder what they would say if we called.

02:39:57 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

They're going to hear this and go, absolutely not. Let's see.

02:40:00 - 02:40:08 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I know Is Melanie going with you? No No, it's just your cousins? Yeah Are your cousins the type to jump the fence? No

02:40:08 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

That's not a good idea No, no, no, no Don't listen to me then Listen, here's the thing Honestly, I wouldn't even joke about that Because the moment that you even said Oh yeah, absolutely, we'd do that Because I know you wouldn't anyway But the moment you say that, guess what They go back and listen to that thing

02:40:27 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

Did I just solidify Lydia not going to the White House?

02:40:31 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Man, she messed up my chance to go to the White House. To the Secret Service listening right now. How you doing?

02:40:37 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have a radio app. Check us out. Did you guys ever write, though, like when you were younger, not even just to like a state senator or something, but like Megan, did you, or Katie, or Lydia, do you guys ever have the book that had the quote-unquote celebrities' addresses and you could write to them or like to their fan clubs?

02:40:55 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Justin Bieber so many times, he never got back to me.

02:40:58 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 2:

Still upset about it. There was a whole book that you could buy that had addresses in it. I used to write to authors all the time. Did you? Yeah, like of kids' books. I used to write to them all the time. N.M. Martin for the Babysitter's Club. For Judy Blume.

02:41:15 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 1:

I've done the whole try to ask the local big celebrity to come into your class and speak thing. And I remember doing that when I was a kid because I grew up in Chicago. And I remember asking the guy who owned the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago White Sox, Jerry Reinsdorf, if he would come into our school. And honestly, if you know anything about Chicago sports, he doesn't give a crap about anybody. He wasn't going to do it. But they did send me back, which I thought was pretty cool, a Chicago Bulls calendar that was from last year.

02:41:50 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I almost did it on the air here a couple of weeks ago because I know Martha Reeves, the legendary Motown sensation. Martha Reeves lives in town in Detroit, and Lucy had a speaking part in her concert, and so she was, and her whole part was about Martha Reeves and the civil rights movement and the song Dancing in the Streets. And so I was going to do it, if somebody knows Martha Reeves, by the way, please contact me, because Lucy's so obsessed now with learning about her.

02:42:19 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 1:

No, I think that that's incredible. And you know what? It's such a great lesson for the kids to learn about these people who honestly-

02:42:26 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

So what do we need? White House? Chicago Bulls? No, no, no, no. I don't care about the Chicago Bulls.

02:42:31 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 1:

No, let's focus on Lydia. If we can get Lydia in and then if Lucy can be able to present something to Martha Reeves, that would be pretty cool. I can't get you either of those things. I can get you Blippi. If you want to get Blippi, I can probably-

02:42:44 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I would not put that out there. Mike didn't, remember? You're going to have 10 million parents.

02:42:47 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 1:

No, remember? Who was it that you contacted and got, Mike? I just went to their Instagram. I literally just DM'd him on Instagram.

02:42:54 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. The message that he sent to Sess. Yeah.

02:42:57 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 1:

That's all I got.

02:42:57 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

That was honestly amazing.

02:42:59 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What's going on, Tampa? Or Tara, I'm sorry. I don't know why I said, or Tamra. Is it Tamra or Tara? Tampa. What is your name? Hello. She hung up the phone.

02:43:11 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 4:

It was Tamra. It was Tamra. I'm sorry.

02:43:13 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 1:

Am I wrong? I looked up at the thing. It looked like it was Tampa.

02:43:16 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 3:

No, it said Tamra.

02:43:17 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sorry. What's up, Jill?

02:43:20 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. I don't know if I've ever written a letter to the President of the United States, but when you have a baby, you can request a letter from the President congratulating you on your baby baby. I heard about that. And you send your wedding invites there. Yeah.

02:43:33 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Do they give you a gift?

02:43:35 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because then they'll send you like...

02:43:37 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 1:

What do they do?

02:43:38 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Like a letter of congratulations or something. Yeah, they send you like an official letter back.

02:43:41 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:43:42 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:43:43 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that. That's kind of cool.

02:43:44 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 3:

It's kind of crazy if they just showed up at your wedding.

02:43:46 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 1:

We should do a fake, like, we would like you to congratulate Mojo and Megan on their new nuptials and see if they send us something. Do you want to do it? Yeah, we should.

02:43:56 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 3:

That would be so funny.

02:43:58 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 1:

And we'll post it up on our stuff. That would be fun. All right, so I just put a letter in to Stacey with Governor Whitmers, and I also just put a couple of letters into some of the other senators. Senators, Senator Stabenow, Senator James, or what is he, a senator or a congressman? I don't even know. What is one of those things? It's a congressman. Congressman John James. All right. We're going to figure this out, Lydia. We're going to try to get you into the White House.

02:44:27 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 4:

You're the best.

02:44:29 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Yes. By the way, it's rather honestly boring.

02:44:33 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I don't think so. I think it's cool.

02:44:36 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 1:

They take you to the non-working area of the White House, and all you see is, you might as well go to just Greenfield Village. No. Really?

02:44:45 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 2:

Don't poo-poo on it. It's very cool.

02:44:47 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. My kids were completely bored. They were cool. They liked being on the White House driveway.

02:44:51 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 2:

But if you're like a history junkie, it's really cool. And Lydia's very into it.

02:44:55 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

They thought the driveway and they thought getting through security was the coolest part of the whole thing. Once we got in.

02:45:00 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 3:

of the thing, it was kind of like, oh, okay, this is a room that

02:45:03 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 1:

was used once or twice. If they like security, just go to Ford Field. Why do we got to go to the White House to get through security?

02:45:07 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 3:

But that's like the secure security. Oh, because it's so

02:45:09 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 1:

intense. I see. Yeah. Like where

02:45:11 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 3:

if you screw up, you go to jail for the rest of your life or something. Yeah. All right. Don't miss this. Mojo in the morning. When we come back here next, what food can you not eat while driving? I want to hear yours in what almost caused an accident. And we'll have the second date update. We'll find out why you're not getting a call back next. More Mojo in minutes. Don't go anywhere because we have Naughty Moms Night Out tickets coming up within the next 20 minutes.

02:45:41 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:45:54 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. After a long week, you like to treat yourself to something that is comforting, a food item that would make you feel good. And I did this where I ended up, after the show, going to get a mod pizza. Have you ever been to Mod Pizza or Blaze Pizza? You ever eat at those places? Yep. For some reason, I love those pizzas. I love the fact that they're cooking it right there in front, and they usually have, like, pretty good pizza. And I have to be gluten-free, so they usually have good gluten-free options. So I decided that I was going to eat it, and then I realized, uh-oh, I got to get home because I had somebody come over to my house. So what I was going to do was I was going to bring it home with me, but I realized I couldn't wait. So I started trying to eat it While I was driving And let me just say this to you Are these cameras on right now? Oh yeah How can you eat that right there?

02:47:04 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh that's got a lot of stuff on it

02:47:06 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 3:

How do you eat that? Let me show you what I got as far as toppings are concerned I had sausage, mushroom It looks like green peppers Oh my gosh I think I even Did I put it? No I didn't put onions on there That was a one stray onion It should not have been on there I did not order it in my thing But I tried to eat this thing while I was driving

02:47:26 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 5:

And you have to say this about Mod pizza The crust isn't like super duper thick

02:47:33 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I'm talking about? No it's a thin crust pizza Yeah it's not like But although I will say this to you That thicker crust pizza Sometimes is even more difficult To eat Because I have tried to eat like a Jets pizza Before a piece of pizza

02:47:49 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 5:

I find that with Mod pizza I like to eat it like New York style where you've got to kind of fold it.

02:47:54 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, like eat it like a sandwich? Yeah, like a sandwich. Yeah.

02:47:57 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 5:

Like a taco.

02:47:58 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Are there certain foods that you just cannot eat while you're driving? I would like you to do us a favor. I'd like you to either call us or on our social media, share with us what food item almost got you into a car accident because I've listed the worst food items that you should not be eating while driving. Number one on the list, you cannot have a Detroit Coney dog. It just can't.

02:48:24 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 1:

Why not?

02:48:25 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 3:

It's too difficult. It's too messy. I can't even eat it at a table of a restaurant without spilling it on myself.

02:48:31 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you're not eating a Coney while you're wearing your nice clothes.

02:48:35 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 5:

Why not? Actually, I don't know. It is a good go-to after a night out, and sometimes that night out is like a wedding or something. Right, but where's the next place you're going? Taco Bell. Bed. Yeah, no. I'm on a bender.

02:48:51 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 3:

Actually, the bathroom. Pony and then a cheesy gordita crunch.

02:48:54 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to say, damn girl, get it. By the way, cheesy gordita crunch.

02:48:58 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 3:

Another one. Oh, that's a bad one, too. Tacos in general.

02:49:01 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 2:

Y'all are not thinking about this properly. The only food you can't eat while driving is soup. Everything else is on the table. Everything.

02:49:09 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 3:

So you can eat soup as long as you don't use a spoon for the soup. Like if you use, if you drink it like a cup of coffee, you can actually.

02:49:17 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 5:

What about a salad?

02:49:19 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 2:

Salads are horrible to try to eat. So Allie got a, when we were driving to Florida, Allie got one of those Chipotle bowls and got us both those. I was like, go ahead, get whatever you want to get or whatever. And I tried to eat that while driving. It was the hardest thing in the entire, it went all over the car. It went everywhere. Yeah, as the driver, she needs to feed you.

02:49:39 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 3:

It needs to be like fed to you like you're an old person that's sitting in a chair and you need to actually have help.

02:49:46 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 1:

I always have an issue with Starbucks coffee. The lid always pops off. It's not even a food. I can't even drink it in the car because the lid gets everywhere.

02:49:53 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 5:

See, I feel like the Starbucks lids are good.

02:49:55 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 1:

They got better.

02:49:56 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 5:

The Horton's lids are terrible.

02:49:57 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Look at this Starbucks lid. It's like impossible to take off.

02:50:00 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 5:

They can't get those things off. I have an issue. Here are some other items. Anything barbecue. Can you imagine trying to eat, like, ribs while you're driving? Has anybody tried to do that? No, but that freaks me out. Chinese food. How do you eat Chinese food while you're driving? That's near impossible unless it's just fried rice.

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 2:

A meaty little bear paw is just...

02:50:17 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 5:

Unless it's, like, fried rice or something like that.

02:50:23 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 2:

You've never used chopsticks while driving? No. I've done sushi. You have? Yeah, because you just set it on the- I can barely use chopsticks anyway. You set it on the passenger seat, and then you just grab it, and you just-

02:50:35 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 5:

Grocery store sushi is easy to eat, as long as they don't have anything on top of it, as long as it's like just California rolls. But you don't use chopsticks when you're doing it. You just grab them with your fingers, don't you?

02:50:47 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it depends if I'm at a red light and somebody cute is looking at me. I'll pick up the chopsticks, but if I'm just driving, me do a little bear paws.

02:50:54 - 02:50:59 | Speaker 1:

I would be worried about impaling myself With the chopsticks

02:50:59 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 5:

Here's what I want to do I want us all to get into a car When can we get Mike and Megan in town And let's all get in the car and get all these items And let's all try to eat it while we're driving

02:51:09 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be in your Tahoe Done

02:51:12 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 5:

And then we'll go to the car wash We'll go to the Clean View Auto Wash Who gave us money for breaking and entering And we'll get it cleaned out But here's the reason why I do this I just want to see her meaty little bear claws that she has

02:51:24 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 2:

I grab you a little bear paws

02:51:25 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Hannah? Hannah, how you doing?

02:51:31 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Good, how are you? Hannah, is this Hannah?

02:51:33 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 4:

Thank you It's Hannah

02:51:35 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 5:

Ah, son of a gun, I did it again What's up, Hannah?

02:51:39 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 4:

I just remember there was this one time I'm a student at Wayne State and I commute So I had, I was driving down Woodward I had picked up some soup from Trader Joe's Because it was a chilly day and that's what I was craving And I remember driving with my knee I do it frequently, and someone had cut me off, and so I had to slam on my brakes. And right before class, I had spilled an entire cup of soup all over my car, my sweater, my seat, my cup holder. It was a mess. So soup is what I would say you can't eat while driving.

02:52:11 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what Megan was saying, too. Trying to eat soup is a tough one. They should make it, like, in a mug or something like that.

02:52:17 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, the only soup you can really eat is wonton soup, because you can just straight up drink it until the chunks come. Yeah.

02:52:24 - 02:52:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that comes towards the end.

02:52:27 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Mark?

02:52:29 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 5:

How you doing? Good. What is it that you can't eat while you're driving?

02:52:34 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 6:

Aside from the taco idea, Mexican bowls, like Udoba. Yeah. Yes. Oh, yeah.

02:52:39 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. Which, by the way, why are you eating Udoba anyway? You should be... Chipotle. Chipotle. Chipotle. All day. We're snobs when it comes to that Jen, what's going on?

02:52:52 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 3:

Have y'all ever tried to eat them 7-Eleven buffalo wings And then they have them little sides of ranch Like the little cup Trying to dip and drive And it's horrible, it gets everywhere

02:53:01 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 5:

You have to be 7-Eleven wings at all You have to be really hungry

02:53:06 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 3:

They're not actually that bad They're kind of meaty But it's like this big wing And then this small little ranch cup That you're trying to dip it in Without dripping ranch everywhere

02:53:15 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 1:

All I can think about is how sticky her steering wheel has to be yeah you know what's actually good at 7-eleven do you ever

02:53:21 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 5:

try the uh cheeseburger dog which is basically this is basically the reason why i had open heart surgery the cheeseburger dog is basically a cheeseburger in the shape of a hot dog have you ever seen it like people think that it's an old hot dog that's on that spindle it's not it's actually a cheeseburger dog try it delicious yeah i love that get that in a slurpee and you

02:53:49 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 6:

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that called like a pigs in a blanket or something?

02:55:02 - 02:55:02 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:55:03 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 8:

Yes. You guys are just thinking small. That's what this is. You're not putting your mind to it. Well, I think I can mentality is what we need around here.

02:55:13 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think honestly that there's a way to eat any of this stuff as long as you think it through. When I was driving with that mod pizza, all I kept thinking to myself the whole time was, I need to go to like AutoZone and see if they have a TV tray that will sit there right in front of my story. They probably do. If I could put a TV tray right there, it would be the greatest thing ever.

02:55:32 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 7:

They probably do. You know how you're, what's that brand you love that you like oogle over? That Weather Guard? Weather Guard, yes. Weather Tech. Don't they have like a cup holder thing that holds your phone? Yeah. See, they need one that has a tray attached to it. So it's right there.

02:55:48 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 4:

My birthday's coming up. My birthday is on the way. You guys, anything you want to get me for my birthday, get me one of those if they have one.

02:55:56 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 7:

Which one? The phone thing or the tray thing?

02:55:57 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't need the phone thing. I want the tray thing. Man, I'm looking right now.

02:56:01 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no.

02:56:02 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 8:

Please let me buy this for him for his birthday. Okay, okay, okay.

02:56:07 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 4:

Democritus, we haven't heard from you in a while. What's up?

02:56:10 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Mojo?

02:56:12 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 4:

How you doing? What is it that you like to eat while you're driving?

02:56:16 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 1:

Fried rice. I can't stop eating it while driving, but I've had a bad experience once. I tried making the right turn, and my whole entire plate just fell right in the middle between my seats, all between my middle console and everything. It was horrible. All the peas, all the carrots, and everything was all over the side of my pants.

02:56:43 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 2:

You ever so hungry, though, that you still kind of just pick it off there and eat some of it? Like, even though it just spilled on your floor, you still kind of pick it and eat it?

02:56:50 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not doing that.

02:56:52 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 4:
