00:03:17 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Hello, hello, hello. It's nice to have you guys here with us today. Ah, the weather's going to be gorgeous. I was looking at what the weather's going to be for our Naughty Moms Night Out. I mean, I got to tell you guys something. I might actually have to pull out some, like, dress shorts or something. I know it sounds weird to say that. I know. It will be a very scary moment for those that have not seen my legs in a while, including me. But I was thinking it's going to be like 80-something degrees. But I know that the nighttime is going to, you know, maybe cool down just a little bit. Plus, we'll be indoors at the Daxton Hotel trying to figure out what to wear. I don't know if you guys got your outfits. I feel like one of now I feel like, Mike, I've left you and I'm now one of the girls here. You've always been one of the girls. What are you wearing? I have no idea what to wear either. Honestly, you know what I always end up going to like the go to is I go I call it the Keldean uniform, the Keldean guy uniform. jeans and a black polo shirt that's usually you find the nicest dressy polo shirt that i have and i'll put that polo shirt on with just a pair of jeans and that is the that is the chaldean uh buddy

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

of mine, uh, uniform that they'll, uh, they'll wear if they're just going to go out and hang out with their friends at the, uh, the Rose Room or something. I don't know. I don't know. Um, Daxton's going to be fun though. It's going to be a lot of fun. Megan, what are we wearing? What do you got going on?

00:05:14 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

I, uh, per usual ordered a whole bunch of clothes that are not going to get here on time. So I am.

00:05:19 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 1:

When did you order them?

00:05:21 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 2:

Um, last week.

00:05:23 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Because I was going to say.

00:05:25 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 2:

I feel like you have the worst luck with that, Megan. I really do. and it came in two different boxes and one shipped like the next day. I was like, oh yeah, and it's arrival date and it's still not until next week. And then the other one didn't ship until like five days later and I placed the order all at the same time. It was very confusing.

00:05:40 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 1:

Don't you hate when you get the message that says to you, your order has been shipped and then you get all excited about it and then it finally comes and maybe a fraction of the order's in there. Like maybe one item of five items is in there.

00:05:57 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have this really cool app called Route, and it'll actually tell me everything I have coming to my house and where it is from all different kinds of companies. Like right now, I've got a Doc Martin shipment coming in and a closed shipment and something from Mac and another thing from Torrid and an Amazon package, and it's like all in one place, and I really like that. That's kind of cool.

00:06:21 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

That is cool. And also it tells you that you order way too much, that you actually have an app for everything that you're ordering.

00:06:27 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

Or maybe some of us don't live in the best areas and we want to make sure packages don't sit on our porch all the time.

00:06:34 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 1:

No, listen, I understand that, but I think you're ordering too much. How much are you? Dad's going to talk finances with you a little bit later today.

00:06:42 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

How dare I buy summer clothes for the summer? Ugh, terrible.

00:06:46 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

I know. Those summer clothes from last summer just don't do it anymore.

00:06:50 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Some of them don't fit anymore. Thanks for bringing it up.

00:06:54 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, come on. You look fabulous. All right, move off this topic now. Move to something else. So a polo. So a polo, Mike. A black polo. A polo. That's what we're going to. Oh, let me tell you about my day yesterday. So I went to lunch with a friend who I haven't seen in a while and had an opportunity just to kind of catch up with him. And I had something happen to me at the restaurant that I want everybody to kind of weigh in on. And that's not just you guys here in our studios. I want you, if you're listening to us, no matter what you're doing, if you're driving, maybe you're a do-gooder and you're going to the gym this early in the morning. Or maybe you're going to school or work or wherever the heck you are. I want you to comment on this. So we sit down at the table and we get this waiter that comes over to grab our drink orders. He's a really nice server. I won't say his name because the poor guy is already going to get called out for something. This guy talked to us the entire time that we were sitting there. Oh, God. And now I'm not trying to say that talking when you're a server is a bad thing. If you're a server, bartender, whatever, you're in the service industry, I love friendly and I love talking. I like that better than somebody that just comes and just goes, yeah. okay you know it does does the grunting type thing you know but it was to a point where at one point I'm not kidding you when I say this to you he actually kneeled down in front of our booth and he put his arms his two arms up in like was hanging on the the end of the the table where he was like making himself comfortable and talking to us about conversation about anything like anything we were getting into and it got to a point where this is no joke he talked so long he had taken our order beforehand and he stood up and he goes all right let me take your order and I go you already took her order like he had already taken our order but he had talking so he talking so long he talked so long that he forgot that he took our order then this is the part where it got crazy because I would have been completely fine with that our order was completely wrong. Oh no. So I'm going to ask this question of, of you. Have you ever had a server that talked so much to you or, or got so involved in your conversation that when the bill finally came, you wanted to split the bill with them. You wanted them to actually put a little into it

00:09:29 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 3:

because they were so involved. There is a place that I go to with the kids pretty frequently, and there's one server there who god love him he's so sweet but he's the same what he just has a lot to say and when i when i see him in there i i have before walked right back out because i'm like i don't feel like talking the whole time and the kneel when you said that i had to laugh because when they do the kneel and put their arms on the table you know it's gonna be a while I'll see you next time.

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 7:

Before your order makes it back to the kitchen.

00:10:02 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 2:

Their plans are that they are going to have a good conversation and good fun that day. They're going to have good company. Good company has finally arrived.

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 7:

There's just a happy medium.

00:10:12 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

And the other thing, too, is, and this was the thing I noticed, very talkative with all of his tables. So, unfortunately, you got him. He came back. But every time he came back, you sat there and you wondered what the other tables were thinking. And then you start thinking, do you ever have this when a server will start talking to you so much? Shannon, have you ever had it where you feel like the people in the restaurant are judging you because they think you're keeping them too long?

00:10:37 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 7:

No, sometimes I'm like, is it okay if I eat my food now? Can I take a bite while you're talking to me? Like if my food has already come? I get random anxiety about that. But I'm like, I'm really hungry.

00:10:47 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. 844-MOJO-LIVE or text 95500. Mike, Megan, what would you guys do in that case? Mike, what would you do if... Mike would be... You would be this guy.

00:11:05 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

I was just going to say that. So, hi, my name's Mike. I'm here to sit with you and also, what are you eating today? You like French fries? I like French fries.

00:11:12 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 2:

Do you like when they sit with you? Do you like when the...

00:11:15 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 3:

See, that's the thing is, no, I don't, but I would totally be that guy to A, chat up the waiter or a waitress, or the other way around, when I was a server, I would chat for a little bit, but I just have a lot to say. I have a lot to talk about, and I'm interested in what they are. I'm interested in them, whoever they are, too.

00:11:32 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So to you, you're good with it, even when you're with the kids and the family. Actually, when I'm with the kids and the family and stuff, sometimes I'd rather talk.

00:11:41 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, my daughter is very much like me, too, and she likes to do the same thing. She'll literally have to go, sis, sis, sis, sis, sis. Do you want nachos, or do you want French fries? What would you like? Focus.

00:11:51 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

Get to the point right now. You know what's funny is that servers sometimes will come and they do this with the kids where they'll find something that they're doing, like a game that they're doing, or they'll find something like that Cecily is wearing or whatever, and they think it's cute. And they try to, like, befriend your children because they know that if you keep the children happy, mommy and daddy are happy, and you're going to get yourself a nicer tip at the end of the thing.

00:12:13 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

00:12:14 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What about you, Megan? Thoughts on this?

00:12:18 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 6:

When I worked at a restaurant and I left, I could not go back for years because the first couple of times I went back, it was all my old coworkers and it wasn't just one person that would sit down and talk to you. It was the entire staff that would step by and check up on you. And I went on a date one time and I maybe said 10 words to my date and then was like, I don't think we're going to come back here for a while.

00:12:41 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Because there's too much.

00:12:42 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 6:

Which I love it there and I love them, but there's a balance.

00:12:46 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:47 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 6:

You know?

00:12:48 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, that was the thing with this guy. This guy was great. He was a really good guy. Actually, it was to a point where we really liked him so much that we were like, you should do a podcast. That's always my end goal with things. I always tell everybody they should do a podcast so that they start talking to a podcast more so than talking to me about what they want to do. But Peggy, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:13:09 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning, all. So anyway, I just wanted to say next time you have a server that wants to hang out with you and stuff, say, well, could you excuse us for a minute because we have to pray before we eat.

00:13:22 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

That's a great one.

00:13:25 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 7:

That is so smart.

00:13:27 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 2:

But what happens if he grabs or she grabs your hand and wants to pray with you?

00:13:32 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

Just say that. It's just a family thing.

00:13:36 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 2:

Peggy, brilliant. Yeah, give it up for Peggy on that one. That's a, that is a, Shannon, you try that next time that you're at that restaurant and I'll try it next time I see this guy. Thank you. We appreciate it. What's up, Isaac? How you doing?

00:13:52 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. My question is, did you tip the guy better or worse after this whole ordeal?

00:13:55 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest with you? I had to give him a great tip because I found his life story to be very compelling because he told us his life story. Like, you know what I mean? So I felt bad about the whole thing, Isaac, that, that I was like, you know what? I got to give, I know this guy more than I know my friends now.

00:14:10 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, that's very nice of you.

00:14:12 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What about you? What would you do in this case?

00:14:15 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 1:

I would tip them well. I feel like not many servers are very talkative to me.

00:14:20 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, listen. Especially nowadays, you just want somebody that is excited about their job. What's going on, Carrie?

00:14:27 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 5:

No, my daughter would keep them around. She likes to talk. She won the Chatty Cathy Award at Girl Scout Camp. They're talking about pickles for an hour.

00:14:38 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 7:

I mean, it's impressive.

00:14:40 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Um, texture here says Mojo, uh, don't you remember the female server years and years ago that always would sit in the booth with you and Chelsea? Oh my God. I forgot about that. That was, well, I could, I could probably say, uh, where it was, but I think that was at the lodge. We used to go there all the time. Uh, five, eight, six says that another texture here. This is from.

00:15:00 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 7:

419. Jordan, by the way, one of our super fans. Mojo, aren't you the one that says there's too many podcasts and there's too many people doing podcasts? Why are you suggesting that this guy do a podcast? I don't know. That was my out to try to get done with the whole thing. How smart are you?

00:15:20 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 8:

It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us

00:15:26 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 7:

what year it happened. All right, all happened in the same year you can win comic-con tickets if you know it this was the year that the jonas

00:15:33 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 1:

brothers split up but the burning question why now why um i think it was time and for us you know

00:15:42 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 6:

it took some time getting there but we feel like it's time that the jonas brothers comes to an end

00:15:46 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 7:

oh that was a sad moment now that they're back in full force everybody's happy uh big sean got engaged to naya rivera in this year this relationship is so special just because it's

00:15:56 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 4:

Like, I think it's one of those weird things when you really meet somebody that you're like, oh, my gosh, like, where have you been this whole time? Like, I feel like we're like soulmates and we like know each other and we're on the same.

00:16:08 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, and Miley Cyrus had the big song on the radio. What a great song. What year was it? Good luck back with Shannon's Dirty and Taylor Swift tickets coming up in moments.

00:16:26 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 8:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:41 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that the Jonas Brothers announced that they were going to split up for a little bit.

00:16:45 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 1:

But the burning question, Kev, why now?

00:16:48 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 6:

Why? I think it was time. And for us, you know, it took some time getting there. But we feel like it's time that the Jonas Brothers comes to an end. Naya Rivera said that Big Sean was her soulmate.

00:16:59 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 7:

This was the year they got engaged.

00:17:00 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 4:

This relationship is so special just because it's like, I think it's one of those weird things when you really meet somebody that you're like, oh my gosh, like, where have you been this whole time? Like, I feel like we're like soulmates.

00:17:12 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 7:

And the big song from Miley Cyrus. We Can't Stop. Melody, what year was that?

00:17:21 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 3:

2015.

00:17:22 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 7:

It was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 3:

The Jonas Brothers.

00:17:28 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 7:

Did you cry?

00:17:31 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

00:17:32 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 7:

A lot of people cried. A lot of fans cried. Yeah, I know.

00:17:35 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 2:

My sister's big, but I didn't.

00:17:37 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Were you a Jonas Brothers fan or no?

00:17:40 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Not really big, no.

00:17:42 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 7:

I actually became a fan when they got back together again. And I remember when they broke up, I think it was Joe that said the music sucked. He was like, yeah, the music sucked, and that's why we needed to. And honestly, their music got so much better when they came back. We've got tickets, by the way, to the Jonas Brothers, so you've got to keep on listening for that. We're going to set you up with passes to go to Comic-Con.

00:18:05 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 8:

Awesome. That's great.

Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

00:18:50 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 7:

Five Lies Tell Your Mom is happening this morning. Shannon with the dirty on the 30 right now.

00:18:56 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, the legendary Robert De Niro was asked about the challenges of fatherhood in an interview that he just did with E.T. I think this is E.T. Canada I was watching and revealed in his answer that he just had a new baby at 79 years old. Oh, my God.

00:19:14 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, I believe in being loving with my kids and sometimes you have to be stern about stuff.

00:19:23 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 3:

So listen, I know you have six kids, but like, have you just had a baby? Oh my goodness. Congratulations. I'm so sorry. Okay. Seven. 79 years old. He just became a new dad.

00:19:35 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 7:

How old is the kid? Okay. Like baby, baby. Baby.

00:19:40 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Like he just had a new baby. And his oldest is 51. Yes! His daughter, Drina, is 51. He's also dad to Raphael, who's 46. Twins, Julian and Aaron, who are 27. Elliot is 24. And his daughter, Helen Grace, is 11. She was his baby. And now he has a baby. Now, he had his...

00:20:00 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 2:

First six kids with three different women. I'm not quite sure who's mom to this new little one. I do know he's currently not married. That's his relationship situation.

00:20:08 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 4:

79 years old. When the kid goes off to college, he will be 97 or dead.

00:20:15 - 00:20:15 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:20:16 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of babies, Chrissy Teigen is shutting down a troll's claim that she and John Legend welcomed their third child, baby Esty, via surrogate. Esty's now three months old, by the way. But in the comments section of a really cute photo that Chrissy posted over the weekend, a fan asked if she had her via surrogate, to which another follower replied, of course she did. And then went on to allege that she used a bump prosthetic called a moon bump. So in true Chrissy Teigen fashion, she responded by sharing a photo from her C-section to her Instagram stories, along with the words, extremely realistic moon bump. Shut them down right away. Why are you just looking at me like that?

00:20:56 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know they had those.

00:20:58 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Well, I mean, that's what they use in Hollywood.

00:21:01 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so it's a Hollywood thing. I thought you'd go buy it at the baby store.

00:21:05 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if Bye Bye Baby carries them.

00:21:08 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 4:

You can wear the bump. Do people really want a bigger bump? Is that something that a mom would want? I don't know.

00:21:14 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 1:

I think some celebrities might have had surrogates in the past and used them.

00:21:17 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 2:

Are you talking about Beyonce? I didn't say that. How dare you. But there are phones. I knew that was a rumor. Yep, I remember that. It was video. Oh, yes. Megan, some dirty for you. I've got a release date for Beetlejuice 2. It is hitting theater September 6, 2024. Not much information about the follow-up to Tim Burton's 1988 movie. I do know he's returning along with Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder as Lydia. Additional cast members this time around include Wednesday star Janet Ortega, who is going to be Lydia's daughter in the movie, and then Justin Theroux is going to be a part of this. he'll be perfect. I don't know what he's going to play or who he's going to play, but he's definitely going to be in it.

00:21:59 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 1:

I hope they don't mess it up.

00:22:00 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know. And lastly, a cruise ship passenger was arrested after FBI officials say he installed a hidden camera in one of the bathrooms of a Royal Caribbean ship and recorded more than 150 people, including at least 40 minors. This guy, By Jeremy Froas, I think is how you say his name, boarded the Harmony of the Seas cruise ship in Miami. It was a seven-day cruise operated by Royal Caribbean, was set to make stops in St. Martin's and Juan in the Bahamas before returning to Miami. Well, about a day after the ship set sail, this guy, this perv, installed a hidden camera in a public bathroom on the Harmony's top deck. A passenger noticed it, reported it to the crew. Ship security searched the bathroom and found this camera. They noticed a micro SD card in it and started reviewing the data. The man was recording and it was connected to his iPhone. So that's how he was getting like all of these videos of, again, more than 150 people, including 40 kids, either using the toilet, changing in and out of their swimsuits. So he was arrested. The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying the victims. This guy faces charges of video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material. So he's in just a little bit of trouble.

00:23:28 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 4:

I was just talking about cruises with Megan because she's going on, they're thinking about going on a family cruise, right? Isn't that what you're talking about doing?

00:23:36 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 1:

It was being discussed.

00:23:38 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 4:

Discussion? Yeah. Well, I will tell you, the bathrooms on cruise ships are not fun. Have you been on a cruise ever?

00:23:47 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're itty, itty, bitty.

00:23:49 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 4:

I mean, honestly, a porta potty has more room in it than a bathroom on a cruise ship to go in to do your business. That's about the same. Yeah. And the problem is when you're on a cruise ship and you're kind of doing the whole wavy thing all the time, you got to go to the bathroom more often.

00:24:05 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:24:05 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 4:

I know it sounds weird to say this.

00:24:07 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Does that affect your aim? Do you really have to focus?

00:24:09 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, yes. And when you kind of like try to go in there, have you ever been like in a small little space, like a small dressing room? Like, I always like the larger dressing rooms, and you're just trying to, like, put something, and you're like, I can't do it. You're sideways.

00:24:23 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 2:

And then you bounce from wall to wall. And you can't figure out how to do it. You're trying to get in your jeans.

00:24:26 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

00:24:27 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 2:

lies to tell your mom coming up also this is your home of the war of the roses the dirty on the 30 throwback throwdown uh this is like my worst nightmare my worst nightmare happened to kp this morning our producer when you wake up look at the clock and i'm assuming your alarm clock is your phone right yes it is and you notice that the time is not the time that you should be waking up but At the time, you probably should be in the car on your work. Or sitting at work.

00:25:34 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Is that what happened? And you know what? It's funny because I was just thinking, wow, I've been so good about not sleeping through work. Oh, no, that's the problem. That's what I did yesterday, my exact thought, because I was listening to some of our old shows, and I was listening to one about when Megan did this way, way long ago. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm so proud. Nope. Life is like, nope, today, today's your day. What time did you actually wake up 5.33

00:26:01 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 3:

What were you going to say Megan You were going to say don't throw me under the bus right Is that what you're saying Absolutely

00:26:06 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 2:

Because I want her to know The episode you're referring to happened six years ago Exactly And that's what I said a while ago Because I didn't want Megan to get into this too Because I had a really good topic And you guys scheduled I overslept over that topic I was like this must be good

00:26:21 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 3:

No no no no don't worry We'll get to that other topic Because that is a really good topic and that might be the reason why she's uh she's late so you gotta because it deals with an x by the way coming up later but no here's here's the interesting thing the interesting thing is you can't put it out there if you're somebody that has to wake up early in the morning obviously you do because you're listening to us right now but if you have to get up early in the morning you can't even say the words about you know what you do you know like you can't say and i'll i'll use a totally different line uh thing here um my doctors say that uh i am over my limit of not sleeping so i'm not gonna like put them all together in one word because if you put them both together about uh uh then you end up doing it so i'm gonna say that uh it's the worst feeling in the world over i can't even say it i don't even want to say it you say it kp because it happened to you

00:27:22 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 2:

Overslept.

00:27:24 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 3:

It's the worst. Yeah. It is so bad. Any of our listeners ever had that happen to them and then they missed something huge? Because for you, it was, you know, just a show, okay? But could you imagine if that happened to you like on Friday and it was our one time a year big party we throw? I know. Naughty Mom's Night Out?

00:27:45 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 2:

Jingle Ball or something like that.

00:27:46 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 3:

Or Jingle Ball. Could you imagine sleeping through Jingle Ball?

00:27:48 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 2:

I actually did, remember?

00:27:50 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, hold on. Not the actual Jingle Ball day, but... Oh, the next day.

00:27:54 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 2:

And the following day.

00:27:55 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 3:

That was the last time that you overslept, right?

00:27:57 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:27:58 - 00:28:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Wow. That's the worst feeling in the world. It is. Or has anybody ever, like, overslept through a wedding?

00:28:08 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 2:

A job interview?

00:28:09 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

00:28:11 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, I overslept through my college boyfriend's lacrosse college signing. I showed up late. I'm like, hey, I'm sorry. I overslept. Just a really big moment for him. Yeah, I got there, and I'm like, I literally look dreadful.

00:28:24 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 3:

I look dreadful.

00:28:25 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 2:

Let's get a picture with you.

00:28:27 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

So that was the thing I was going to ask you, because I've not seen you at all, because you're behind my screens right now. Let me see it real quick.

00:28:32 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 2:

You can't look dreadful.

00:28:33 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 3:

You look like you showered. Did you shower?

00:28:35 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I did, actually. Well, not this morning, last night. Oh, you showered last night. I went to the gym last night. Okay. I find that when I go to the gym, and I stay until like eight or something, then I tend to be really overtired the next day. Because I normally fall asleep at like I would say like 10, 30, 11 Which is not good I have a terrible sleep schedule But I get out of the gym at like 8, 15 And my body I feel like is just so tired from that And I wake up this morning and I'm like stiff And super run down

00:29:04 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 3:

I can never do any kind of exercise at night Because I can't fall asleep for some reason I have a hard time falling asleep I know a lot of people say that they sleep like babies Why can't you do exercise during the day? Because I could fall asleep Got me morgan what's going on hey a long time listener first time caller

00:29:24 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 1:

uh yeah when i was in high school i worked at dairy queen and i lived right by so i would walk to work because i didn't even have my driver's license yet and uh i overslept for one of my shifts and my co-workers ended up walking to my house and like pounding on my back door i was sleeping on the couch was the scariest thing of my whole entire life oh man everybody needed to

00:29:48 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 3:

have their Dairy Queen so obviously it was a that was a middle of the day type of a sleep because

00:29:51 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 1:

Dairy Queen doesn't open up early does it yeah right it was like right after school or something

00:29:56 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

yeah that's my biggest fear time of

00:30:00 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 1:

having it happen to me because I end up falling asleep on the couch and I've had situations where I've had to set like five alarms knowing that we got something going on that night or I've got to be at, you know, my son's school. What's going on, Michelle? Well, I overslept through a scheduled

00:30:16 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 2:

surgery. Oh, no. Oh, gosh. I was supposed to be to the hospital at 6 a.m. I was having my gallbladder removed the surgery was at eight and i woke up at 10 and you did all that prep too didn't you well there was just you can't eat or drink for the gallbladder i know but doesn't that suck you didn't eat at night well the whole thing sucked the doctor was ticked i had to wait two more weeks but i'm a nurse and i'm like i can't tell you how many times people have eight o'clock surgery scheduled and the doctor rolls in at nine i'm like my time's just as valuable as theirs and they show up late because whatever not that that's why i overslept no but that no that's a really

00:31:00 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 1:

that's a very good point i wonder if that's ever you know if you're saying the doctor on purpose is not showing up but i wonder if the doctor's ever overslept listen to some of these texters that have come through i overslept through my college finals 313 says they text into us i have that nightmare all the time. And honestly, you feel like you can never make those college finals up. But that is, by the way, that is a very good nightmare that you get. And even if you're not in school, it comes back to you. This is a wild one. Line number 20, they overslept through a very big moment for their family. What was the moment that you overslept through, Ari? I slept through my goddaughter's baptism. And goddaughter, meaning you were supposed to be there at the baptism.

00:31:46 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 2:

Yep. We were in Grand Haven overnight, and then we went home late, late, late, late at night. And, yeah, we woke up to my sister-in-law basically breaking into our house, like, where are you? Everybody thinks you're dead. And we were like, what? Oh, man. So it was pretty crazy. Just our phones died, and it was totally a misunderstanding and miscommunication.

00:32:08 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 1:

Wow. 734 says, I overslept through a criminal court case.

00:32:13 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

00:32:14 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 1:

Woke up to the cops ready to arrest me because I didn't show. That's a big one.

00:32:19 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 2:

Oops. Oops. What did he say? Sorry.

00:32:23 - 00:32:36 | Speaker 1:

By the way, there is still no better oversleeping at all, though. We talk about it all the time, though, than calling the TPD, the Toledo police, to go and barrel down Megan's door.

00:32:36 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 2:

Six years ago.

00:32:37 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Six years ago. But you know what, though? That's good. Knock on wood. Yeah. That doesn't happen. I'm going to put this out into the universe. Yeah, don't even say it. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, go now. Five Lives Tell Your Mom's coming up here next. 00:33:56 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 2:

Francia Reza.

00:33:57 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 1:

Francia Reza. That sounds like, by the way, a Chardonnay in a box. Is it?

00:34:02 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 2:

You're thinking of Franzia.

00:34:03 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 1:

Franzia. Francia Reza donated which organ to Selena several years ago?

00:34:10 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

A kidney.

00:34:11 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 1:

00:34:44 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 2:

00:34:47 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

Question number five, there's a man alleging that he's Jay-Z's son in a new court order and wants the rapper to take a DNA test. How many kids, minus this kid, does Jay-Z have?

00:35:06 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 2:

One. Let's bring the

00:35:08 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 1:

champ back from a soundproof area.

00:35:10 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Three out of five correct. Not too shabby, Jillian. Oh, okay. That's pretty good.

00:35:15 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 1:

Here we go. Question number one. The Weeknd says that he may be changing his name, dropping The Weeknd and starting to go by his real name from here on out. What's his legal first name? Abel. Yes. One to one. Question number two. Selena Gomez fans have been bullying her former BFF, Francia Reza, online. Francia donated which organ to Selena several years ago? Kidney. Yes. Two to two. 00:37:41 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 2:

My Washington, D.C.

00:37:43 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 1:

trip. Oh, my God. Like as like a middle school kid? Yes.

00:37:47 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 2:

My parents set the alarm and I thought I was going to stay up all night. So I felt tired. I went and I turned off the alarm, which I thought I turned on the alarm. And we missed the trip. My dad drove me all the way to Ohio because there was two routes they could take to get to Washington, D.C., and we picked the wrong one.

00:38:08 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. You missed out, dude. What a great dad, though, that he drove you to go meet

00:38:13 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 2:

the bus, huh? All the way. All the way to the Ohio border.

00:38:17 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's unbelievable. That's so sad when you miss out on that opportunity. So what did you do while everybody was in D.C.? Did you just hang at home?

00:38:25 - 00:38:26 | Unknown:

Just hang at home.

00:38:27 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 2:

Cried a little.

00:38:29 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:39:44 - 00:39:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you?

00:39:46 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

Great. Are you ready to do this?

00:39:50 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I'm so excited.

00:39:52 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom. Kylie, your mom gets a little upset from time to time, doesn't she?

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:40:00 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 1:

Kylie has a history of dating a bunch of bums. Yes. And who's the ex-boyfriend that I hear that your mom hates the most?

00:40:12 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 3:

Bobby is kind of disappointing.

00:40:15 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 1:

But disappointing, I like that word. That's a nice one. He's disappointing. Okay, so we're going to have some fun here. Kylie, by the way, is at a dental office, and she's trying to get back to work here. Lie number one. You're going to say, Mom, I got a letter from the dental program.

00:40:33 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:40:34 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 1:

Lie number two.

00:40:35 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 3:

Say, I wasn't accepted. Okay.

00:40:40 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 1:

And what is it that you would like to be in your dental program? What is it you're going to study?

00:40:45 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm an assistant right now, and I'm going to school to be a dental hygienist.

00:40:48 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

All right. Lie number three.

00:40:50 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 3:

They had a problem with my criminal record. Oh, my God.

00:40:55 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 1:

Lie number four.

00:40:55 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 3:

Say, I got pulled over with my ex. Okay.

00:40:59 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 1:

And say Bobby's name, too. And lie number five, the cops found weed, and I told them it was mine.

00:41:07 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:41:09 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go.

00:41:10 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, my God, okay.

00:41:15 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

If you get all five of these lies out before your mom hangs up, you win a prize for her.

00:41:21 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Yay, okay. Hello? Mom. What? Where are you? Are you at work? Yeah. Can you talk? Yeah, why? I got a letter back from my dental program and I didn't get in. Hi. I suppose I found an issue with my criminal background check. What? I didn't tell you. I was driving with Bobby in the car a couple months ago, and I got pulled over from speeding, and they found weed in the car, and I had to say it was mine, otherwise they'd go back to jail. Kylie. Why would you do that? Oh, what am I going to do? Oh, my God, Kylie. Why did you do that for him? I love him. Oh, f***. I'm like shaking. I mean, does that stay on your record forever? I have no idea. But all I know is if anything's on your criminal background check, then you can't get into the program for five years. So why? You knew that, right? Yeah. Why? I thought I was doing the right thing. No, no, never, ever. Oh, my gosh. I mean, I can sit here and say all I want, but I don't know why you did it, and I don't understand it, but you're young and you're basically ****. I just didn't want him to go back to jail at the time. I don't know. Kylie, then he should stop doing ****. That's not your responsibility. That's it. That's on him.

00:43:33 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 1:

Kylie, listen to your mother.

00:43:37 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

00:43:38 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

Listen to your mother, Kylie. Listen to her. Those are words of wisdom right there.

00:43:43 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm listening.

00:43:44 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 1:

I agree with everything you say, Mom.

00:43:46 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you.

00:43:50 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

Mom, how are you?

00:43:52 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 3:

I've been better, but you know what? You always look at it like there could be worse things that have happened. Exactly.

00:44:02 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

Could be. And hopefully she learns that you don't hang out with this guy. He's a major.

00:44:10 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 3:

Disappointment.

00:44:11 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:44:13 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 3:

Am I on a speakerphone?

00:44:14 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no, you're not on a speaker phone. Don't worry about that. You're on something bigger than that. You're on the Mojo on the Morning Show right now.

00:44:24 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Are you kidding me?

00:44:28 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 1:

And you're on five lives to tell your mom.

00:44:30 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Highly . I love you so much. I'm going to kill you. I thought that was, like, the dentist talking on the line and then his wife.

00:44:44 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

Ah, you thought it was your boss?

00:44:46 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yes, you thought it was my boss.

00:44:48 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Mom, Kylie had you on our show for Five Lies to Tell Your Mom, and she just won you a prize. Congratulations. Oh, my gosh.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 4:

That was fake crying, by the way.

00:45:01 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 2:

That was excellent. Oh, my God. Thank God.

00:45:06 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five, four, five.

00:45:09 - 00:45:09 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:45:10 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:45:13 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 3:

You know what I want for next week? I want a guy who can be a good fake crier. Because it's like two weeks in a row we've had some really amazing actresses. But they've all been, you know, like Kylie, you know, 20-year-old girl. I need a guy who can fake cry. So if you're a guy that wants to do this on your mom, come on. I know that there's somebody out there that can do this thing. Text MOM to 95500 and do it next week.

00:45:43 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 2:

More Mojo next.

00:45:45 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo on the morning show. I'm putting everything aside right now. I hope that you haven't gone through a drive-thru yet to go get something for breakfast. If you got it, just leave it there for a second. You'll eat it for lunch because you're not going to eat after this whole thing.

00:46:01 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 4:

It's not that bad.

00:46:03 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, first off, the video that you did to show us what it was, because we were going to talk about this yesterday. And you said, well, you know, I'll go home and I'll show you guys what I do. You do a video. Let me explain something real quick about Shannon. And if anybody agrees with this, tell me. If you disagree, tell me also. When Shannon does videos She can never do a video Without the perfect lighting The perfect everything It looks like a major motion picture

00:46:29 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 4:

Well my house is all windows So it does help me It's all natural light

00:46:35 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 3:

Then I watch the video And I go okay this doesn't look that bad But I know it's that bad It's that bad because her fiance Told her it was that bad So she was Explain the story What do you do with your dog?

00:46:49 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

So I, when I feed my dog, I put the food, like yesterday it was steak. So I put it in my mouth and I make it into little tiny pieces and then I put it on the floor for him to eat.

00:47:04 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 2:

So you baby bird.

00:47:06 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 4:

I baby bird my dog.

00:47:08 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 2:

You baby bird your dog.

00:47:09 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 4:

And I did not think that this was that weird until Wes looked at me the other day doing it like I was an alien or something. And he said, who are you? Why don't you just put the food on the floor or cut it up with a knife and put it in his bowl? But it is much easier to just do it with your teeth, spit it out into your hand, and put it on the floor.

00:47:30 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 3:

Does your dog have old people teeth or something like that that it can't bite through it? Or is it just to make it smaller pieces?

00:47:37 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 4:

He doesn't have very many of his teeth left because he's had to get them all pulled. So we're working with The bare minimum amount of teeth He loves people food I have ruined him that way So that's what I do I don't think it's that strange

00:47:55 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 3:

The only reason why I bring this up Is you sent us the video of you doing this

00:48:00 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 4:

That's really how I do it

00:48:02 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 3:

And I have to tell you that It didn't look as bad And I was thinking to myself Okay maybe either Wes Just has a weak stomach or maybe it's one of those typical Shannon videos where she's always like got the video looking so pretty and stuff like that.

00:48:18 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 4:

You guys are going to be at my house on Friday. Y'all can take some videos if you want.

00:48:21 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm taking stock videos for like three weeks. That lighting is incredible there.

00:48:25 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 3:

I would like for Wesley. Wesley, are you listening? Can I call him Wesley, by the way?

00:48:31 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:48:31 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 3:

Wesley.

00:48:32 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 4:

That's what Smith calls him. Does he really? Wesley. I'm like, there's no T in his name, but okay. Call him. He's awake.

00:48:40 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 3:

Here's what I want. I want him, though, I want him to get you doing this without you knowing that you're doing this so that we can see the true you.

00:48:48 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 4:

You guys have to take a video, so, I mean, I'm sitting there taking it.

00:48:52 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, she's biting nicely into the meat, and then she puts it on the ground. I got a feeling, though, that you also, do you ever, like, bite into it and then go right up to him and, like, give him kisses and smooches and stuff, too?

00:49:05 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

I truly have never kissed my dog on the lips.

00:49:07 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

No?

00:49:07 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 4:

I actually think that's kind of gross. I don't believe you. I haven't. I really haven't.

00:49:11 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 3:

Charlie looks like a kissed dog. Look at him. He just looks so kind and gentle and nice.

00:49:16 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 1:

I also think...

00:49:18 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Go ahead. What were both of you guys going to say? Say it at the same time. One, two, three, go.

00:49:27 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, I think the video is so good. Like, you were going to give a code at the end.

00:49:34 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 4:

No, that meat was from Trader Joe's.

00:49:36 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 3:

um do you find it odd that uh that she's baby birding her dog uh megan this seems like something that you would never do with coralline coralline never would get baby birded absolutely not my

00:49:50 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 1:

dog doesn't even get people food like i'm so strict with her uh but good no because my dog is still bad even though i don't feed her people food i would i thought was the

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

The most amazing part of that video, Shan, was the container of the food was sitting on the floor. The dog had access to the food. The dog was waiting for you to place the food on the floor. My dog would act possessed in order to get to that food if it was just sitting on the floor.

00:50:15 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 1:

I thought the same thing. I'm like, you know what Charlie is?

00:50:18 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 6:

He knows the routine that I chew it up for him first and put it on the ground.

00:50:23 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 1:

He's like one of those circus animals that is trained, especially trained. Like, you know, like a tiger and stuff, like during the Siegfried and Roy days?

00:50:30 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 6:

Well, that didn't turn out well.

00:50:31 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, that's right. They bit off his arm.

00:50:33 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 6:

You also have to remember for a while, this dog would only eat off of a fork.

00:50:37 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:50:38 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 6:

Remember? Because that's how my mom was feeding him when she would take care of him. And then he came to my house and was like, what the F? You're putting it in a bowl? No.

00:50:47 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 1:

This is a Birmingham dog.

00:50:48 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 6:

I mean, come on. Fine, Shina. You prissy little thing. But we created this monster.

00:50:54 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 1:

Vicky, are you there? Yes, I am. Vicki, what do you think about the fact that Shannon baby birds her dog Charlie?

00:51:03 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 5:

It's perfectly normal.

00:51:06 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 1:

What?

00:51:07 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 5:

Yes, because even small pets especially, if you give them a piece of food that they like, they are going to try to inhale it. And that makes it a choking hazard.

00:51:19 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yes.

00:51:21 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 5:

It's taking the time to cut a bite of food off.

00:51:25 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but wouldn't it take just as short a time if Shannon just put that thing with a knife?

00:51:32 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 5:

And a plate. No, because then you have to get up and get the fork and get the knife. No.

00:51:37 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I think I was just jealous because Shannon was sitting on the floor and it would have taken me eight years to get off the floor.

00:51:44 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 6:

P.S. Normally I don't sit on the floor, but that was the only way I could get the video and the dog in the video. Do you see what I mean? It was just me. Okay, I get it.

00:51:52 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 1:

I get it.

00:51:52 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 6:

I do that for my cat. So normally I have it on the counter, and I put it down on the ground.

00:51:57 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 1:

Vicki, do you kiss your cats and dogs on the lips?

00:52:01 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't have a dog, but if I tried to get that close to my cat with my face, he would probably bite me.

00:52:07 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Vicious cats. That's why I don't have a cat, for that same reason. They suck the life out of you at night.

00:52:14 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 2:

But this is why dog people are weirder than cat people. You're a dog person! No, I am a cat person who has a dog.

00:52:21 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 1:

That is true. I always thought you were a cat person And then when all of a sudden you came home with a Well, I don't know if necessarily You can call Coraline a dog Do you kiss Coraline on the lips, by the way?

00:52:33 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not See, that's where I really do draw the line there Like, I've never let Char lick my face or anything like that He also has the worst Breath on planet Earth

00:52:42 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 1:

Because he's eating steak and he's not I mean, it is nasty He needs a mint You need to put a mint afterwards

00:52:51 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 6:

Greenies do not work, by the way. So you could go ahead and text that suggestion. That is BS.

00:52:56 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 1:

Shauna, what's up?

00:52:58 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I could hand my dog food and she would look at me and not touch it. I have to put the bowl in the microwave for a second. I don't have to turn it on. As long as it sits in the microwave for two seconds, I could put it on the floor.

00:53:09 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 1:

Stop for a second. You have to warm your dog's food up or your dog won't eat it.

00:53:14 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't have to turn it on. I don't have to turn the microwave on or start it or anything. I just have to sit the bowl in there for a second and then.

00:53:19 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

So your dog has to see that it looks like you're actually doing that. Not that you're doing it, but it looks like you're doing it.

00:53:30 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 3:

Now I have a cat as well that doesn't have a litter box. She scratches at the door to go outside.

00:53:35 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 1:

That is amazing. I like that, though. I wish I could have that. That is wild.

00:53:40 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 3:

The whole using the potty for a cat, that's just weird. If I walked in the bathroom, am I supposed to say, excuse me, I'm sorry, because we're using the toilet? I don't know.

00:53:48 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 1:

It smells terrible.

00:53:49 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't do that.

00:53:49 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, are there any people that their animals have to have the door closed to go to the bathroom? That would be funny to find out. Thank you for the call. Courtney, what's going on? How you doing?

00:54:01 - 00:54:02 | Unknown:

Good. How are you?

00:54:02 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 1:

Courtney, do you have the same feeling that I do that Shannon's dog, Charlie, has a better life than you? Because that's when I'm starting to think.

00:54:11 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

Most definitely.

00:54:12 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's kind of my feelings. What's going on? What did you want to say?

00:54:16 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 4:

My mom meal preps for her dog.

00:54:19 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. You know, I mean, props to her.

00:54:24 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, her dog is 19, so I know she's listening right now, so I'm probably going to get cussed out after this. But she meal prepped for her dog.

00:54:32 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 6:

Did you say the dog is 19?

00:54:34 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 4:

What did you say?

00:54:35 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 6:

Did you say that the dog is 19?

00:54:38 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she's a little rat terrier. Wow.

00:54:41 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

00:54:42 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

That's an amazing amount of years that you guys have had that dog. It's going to be horrible when, God forbid, something happens.

00:54:47 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 6:

Okay, wow.

00:54:48 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 1:

No, it's inevitable. I don't know if you know this, but not all dogs live forever. I saw that movie. I'm just saying, Courtney.

00:55:00 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 4:

No, she's getting up there. She's getting up there. That's why she meal prepped.

00:55:03 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I worry that when Luke goes off to college and Chelsea and I become empty nesters, that's going to be us. That's going to be our life. We're going to be meal prepping for Henry and Louie, our two dogs. You are. And we're going to start calling them our kids. That's going to be what our life is going to be. Your fur babies. Our fur. Oh, jeez. Gosh. Dustin, what's happening? Not much.

00:55:23 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 3:

How are you guys doing this morning?

00:55:24 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 2:

Good, Dustin. What's going on?

00:55:27 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 3:

Not much. As I texted in, I have eight cats and a dog, and literally I get up between 4 and 4.30 in the morning, and I have six out of eight of my cats that meet me at my bedroom door waiting for their morning kisses and love. Oh, Lord.

00:55:44 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Eight cats, huh? So is there a lovely lady in your life?

00:55:49 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I have my wife, and we have five boys all together. Wow.

00:55:53 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

Who do you kiss more?

00:55:54 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 3:

well honestly because my wife works second shift and i work first shift i probably kiss the animals

00:56:01 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 2:

more than her just because i see them more that that kind of uh seems like it would be okay i don't know i i don't know i i find it very odd when i see that people like will kiss their animals and then they don't go and wipe them you know like wash their mouths or anything like that And, like, I think that that's – there's just something gross about that, you know? It's kind of like when you go and you pick up your dog's duty, even if you got that bag on your hand, and then you go eat yourself. Like, boy, that sounded really weird. But then you go and eat, and you don't wash your hands, you know?

00:56:39 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know what you mean. You know, our cats get bathed once a month, and my dog gets a bath every two weeks. Wow. But my animals are very clean.

00:56:48 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I love that. animals are very clean Shannon

00:56:52 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 4:

wash a child once a month and go it's very clean yeah that's right

00:56:55 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 2:

not you Shannon listener Shannon makes home cooked meals for her dog every night

00:57:05 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 4:

00:58:08 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 2:

it's amazing your your dog is healthier than anyone on this show thank you for the call i appreciate it take care of yourself last call from jamie and then you can go back to uh eating whatever food you wanted to eat after this topic what's going on jamie

00:58:27 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 5:

they say that dogs do have a healing mouth that you know when you have a wound that if a dog licks

00:58:33 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 2:

it it's supposed to heal it so dogs lick their balls i don't know if you know that did you know that dogs lick their privates? Which I'm not totally against. If we could. 00:59:15 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 4:

to win. Well, bad news for Morgan Wallen fans this morning.

00:59:21 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. That's you.

00:59:23 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 1:

I got some bad news from my doctors at the Vanderbilt Voice Center yesterday. After taking 10 days of vocal rest, I performed three shows last weekend in Florida, and by the third one, I felt terrible. So I went in and got scoped yesterday and they told me that I re-injured my vocal cords and that I have vocal fold trauma. Their advice is that I go on vocal rest for six weeks. Wow.

00:59:51 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 4:

So those shows in that six weeks will be rescheduled. He is going to be missing some festivals. I know he's pulling out of performances this week at ACM Lifting Live's Top Call. tee off uh and rock on he's also missing the 58th acm awards they told me that if i do this the

01:00:08 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 1:

right way that i'll get back to 100 and they also said that if i don't listen and i keep singing and i permanently damage my voice so for the longevity of my career this is just the choice i had to make i hate it but i love you guys i appreciate all the support that you always give me i'll see you soon and i'll be back better than ever huh do we believe him well it's funny we

01:00:33 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 6:

didn't believe him before i mean i don't know i don't you know we all thought maybe he partied too hard or maybe he's got some other stuff going on but i don't i don't know i i will say this that he's got to figure that out i mean he's doesn't want to have you know his greatest asset his voice although some women think that there's other ones but it doesn't affect us though does it I mean, I know it affects West Michigan or how everything went with them, but it doesn't... When is he here? He's here on June 30th. June 30th, is that right? So this will be... So that would be like

01:01:06 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 3:

right around... That would be week seven. So, I don't know. I have mixed feelings about if it's actually going to happen. I'm not getting my hopes up because I'm going to that. Don't do anything with your tickets, though. I'm not. No, I'm going to keep holding on to them.

01:01:18 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 4:

Selena Gomez is former BFF and her organ donor, Francia Reza. I want to talk about what's going on there because it's very clear there was some sort of fallout The two are not friendly anymore, and the story going around is that Francia is not happy that Selena is continuing to drink alcohol after she donated her kidney to her back in 2017 to essentially save her life. She did save her life, and she's been dodging questions about their relationship as of late, making fans believe it is strained. And I know that her dad, Francia's dad, appeared on a Spanish news show a couple of months ago and maybe gave a little bit too much information about what went on, what went down in their friendship. He was asked why his daughter wasn't included in Selena Gomez's documentary. And he said, he was very open in saying that the tension stemmed from Selena drinking alcohol despite receiving his daughter's kidney. And this was a thing, you know, back when that surgery happened, when that organ donation happened, that Selena had allegedly promised she would stop drinking, and she has not fulfilled that promise, which led to the stress and ultimately the breakdown of their friendship. After Tom Cruise and Shakira were photographed hanging out together at the Formula One Grand pre-Miami over the weekend. I'm being told there's more to that story. Like, he is very interested in pursuing her. And there's chemistry. He's single. She's single. She split from her long time boyfriend last summer. And she's not taller than Tad. He's 5'7". She's 5'2". Apparently he bought her flowers after they hung out in Miami. So So, I can't see it, but I don't know where that will go.

01:03:17 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the perk is getting on his Christmas cake list, which I think she's probably nailed at this point, so good for her. But second of all, there in Florida, somebody needs to stake out Clearwater and see if she goes into the Scientology building. Oh, that is a great point. Because if she dies, I think the relationship is confirmed. Yeah, that's a great point.

01:03:34 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Aduri in New York City rejected writer E.G. Carroll's claim that former President Donald Trump raped her in a New York City department store in the mid-90s, however, did find him liable for sexual abuse and for defamation. So she was awarded $5 million in damages. The findings are civil, which means that Trump has not been convicted of a crime, nor will he face prison time. He was not present at the trial, but he

01:04:02 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 5:

was commenting afterward. We'll be appealing this decision. It's a disgrace. I don't even know who this woman is. I have no idea who she is, where she came from. This is another scam. It's a political witch hunt. And somehow we're going to have to fight

01:04:21 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 4:

this stuff. Trump said the trial was just the latest in a long line of politically motivated attacks on him. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the DirtyMorning.com.

Does this make you want to have kids?

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go.

01:17:59 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 6:

Let's go.

01:18:00 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. 90 Moms Night Out Friday. Talking to all these moms and giving them a great time. The thing that I think people look forward to the most is just the night out, which is so simple, right? Just getting a night out. but also being able to hang out with people that are just like them, which is the other moms that are going to be there. Diamond, are you there?

01:18:27 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:18:28 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Diamond. How you doing, Diamond?

01:18:31 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing good. How about you?

01:18:33 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 2:

Good. Would you like to party with us on Friday?

01:18:35 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I will. I need it.

01:18:37 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 2:

We are going to make sure that you're there. Congratulations to you, Naughty Moms Night Out. It says here you're from Shelby, which is a beautiful, big listening area of the Mojo in the Morning show. You've got three children. How old are they?

01:18:53 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I have 13, 9, and 60-year-olds.

01:18:59 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. So you got your hands full. You got some young ones. You're coming with us, so get a sitter and get ready to bring a friend with us to the Daxton Hotel Friday, okay?

01:19:14 - 01:19:14 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:19:15 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 2:

Daxton Hotel, downtown Birmingham.

01:19:17 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I can't wait. It's going to be fun.

01:19:19 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

If you would like to go, you've got to keep listening because we have more shots to win, but we only have like two more days, basically. I know Friday we might give away some last-minute ones, but we just only got a couple more days to win to get you prepared to be able to go out because Friday winning is going to be tough. I mean, it's a lot of stuff to get together. So make sure that you keep listening. So today and tomorrow you get an opportunity. And we also came up with this idea with, you know, with the Naughty Moms Now. We might have a couple extra passes. And some people were like, what can I do? You know, can we do like stunts for it? Because we're doing our Only Fans Challenge which I got to talk about that coming up here next.

01:20:00 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 1:

And I'm like, you know what? I know we did yesterday kind of a little, what do you, you know, hope that your kids never find out about you. But I kind of like the idea of not making it be like one of those things where it's like making you have to jump through hoops for it until this came up. Somebody said, why don't you do it for maybe a donation to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish? And I thought to myself, I'm like, you know what? That's actually not a bad idea. and we don't have like the capabilities of doing like let's do an auction hey how much would you pay for this whole thing so the idea came up of maybe what we do is we take a few of these passes or like you know six so two three pairs and we'll offer it up to if you would make a donation to breaking and entering christmas wish and we'll kind of see how you know that would go and i don't even know where to start the price at because it's seriously something we've never charged for. We've never charged a ticket for Naughty Moms Night Out. So donations to Breaking Night and Christmas Wish, we would take a $5 donation which is an awesome one. But I think these things are more valuable than $5. Yeah.

01:21:16 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

I mean, we're limited. Are there really only three pairs? So six total tickets. So it'd be six total tickets. The price has got to be up there.

01:21:22 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 1:

Six total tickets. What if we did this just to test out the waters? text us if you would be doing this text you know uh breaking and entering if you'd be willing to pay for this would you be willing to pay 250 a ticket so 500 make a 500 donation to break and entering christmas wish so that's all simply we would say is our break and entering christmas wish program be a tax deductible donation you can for 500 have a great night out but also know you're helping out a family that we will be, you know, sponsoring and giving, you know, the opportunity to be able to have, you know, their lights on, their heat on, their air conditioning on, whatever it might be, because we grant wishes throughout the entire year and help people out.

01:22:08 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 2:

So you could feel good about however naughty you get on Friday night, because you know that's your ticket. Then hold on a second.

01:22:13 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 1:

Then I have to do, if that's all it takes, is that kind of like when you actually have like a really crazy friday or saturday night and then you go to church on sunday and you actually put money in the collection basket does it work that way um so text breaking and entering to 95500 if you would be willing to pay you know for the naughty mom's night out tickets and the pay would be a donation of 500 so a pair of tickets 500 and then what we'll do is lydia if we get any oh we do have some people that are texting so we do have yes look at this a bunch of people oh my gosh so why don't we do this at the end of the show Lydia then let's go through and we'll we'll pick a few of them and we'll maybe raise see if we can raise you know I don't know 1500 bucks or something like that for breaking and entering did that take you a second yeah I had to do the the math on it that's why I wanted to do an even number because I was going to be like would you be would you pay 175 dollars a ticket no it would have been kind of too too tough on that um all All right, Mojo on the Morning Show, our Only Fans Challenge week number three. I'll talk about that coming up after Megan talks about this. So it's something very interesting going on, Megan. You're wondering why it is that this guy's not picking up his wedding ring.

01:23:31 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so my brother is going to be in a wedding for his best friend, but his best friend moved from Toledo up to Michigan. And over the past couple of months, every few weeks they go up, And they kind of help with the new project to get their life started after the wedding, right? So a couple of weeks ago, they needed to move in. And like a week or two after that, they put in a fence in the backyard. So the guys are spending like a lot of time there on the weekends. And a couple of weeks ago, they were up there doing the fence. And one of the guys came back to Toledo. And he left his wedding ring at our buddy's house up in Michigan. And my brother said, you know what? No problem. I live like 20 minutes from him. i'll just take it back home with me and i'll i'll reach out to him and i'll get it back to him that was on april 9th it's been over a month we've been calling and texting this guy and he just won't respond and so his wedding ring has been sitting on my kitchen table for a month now and

01:24:32 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 2:

i don't know what to do so how long would it take him to get to come and get it 20 minutes 20 minutes At 20 minutes. At most.

01:24:41 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 1:

At most. So wait, so is he married?

01:24:45 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's married. So he is married. Yeah. I'm surprised his wife hasn't driven over to get it for him.

01:24:51 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

And if you're thinking it's one of those like silicone bands, maybe he has other ones. Nope. It's his actual wedding ring. It's like metal.

01:25:00 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 4:

It has some sort of, like, fancy stone in it. It's a nice wedding ring that he just won't respond to us. And it's not like they don't get their friends. It's so weird.

01:25:12 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 2:

Did he know or did she know where he was at the time of him losing that ring? Oh, I don't know. Because in that case, it would be like he doesn't want, like, he said he was somewhere else. and if he goes and gets that ring from you guys, then he's now admitting that he was somewhere he probably wasn't supposed to be. I don't know that that's the case, but...

01:25:33 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 4:

But why wouldn't you just text us and say, hey, I need to pick it up, or hey, can you drop it off here, and then delete the text?

01:25:40 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but also the other thing, too, was he doing anything bad? He was helping out a friend, wasn't he?

01:25:44 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 4:

Right, they were just installing a fence in the backyard.

01:25:46 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 1:

Like, if they were out for a night of partying, then I get Mike's idea with this.

01:25:51 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 2:

It's not my... Well, first off, it's not my idea.

01:25:54 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 1:

But you know what No no Well I know Not your idea But we always think On this show We always think of the scandal Where's the scandal

01:26:01 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 2:

Well what if like She wanted him To go to like a family thing And he's like Ah no I can't I got this work thing I gotta do I can't go do that And it's not even that serious But to him It is that serious Because he skipped out On some like Important thing to her

01:26:14 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 1:

Or it could be That there are guys That just don't Honestly wear their wedding rings On a regular And then they just don't Think anything of it Or Honestly

01:26:23 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 3:

I have a guy friend who never wears his. Only to special occasions.

01:26:27 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:26:28 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 3:

Like if he and my girlfriend, his wife, are going to a wedding or something that they're dressing up, then he'll put it on. That's it.

01:26:35 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 4:

What if he hated the ring and this is just his excuse to get a new one, right?

01:26:40 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 1:

Again, we think of the scandal. I know.

01:26:42 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 4:

We always lie. Are we like that?

01:26:44 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you what's interesting about this is that you're talking about how this guy has not picked up the ring. I know guys that will have somebody drive them home from a night of partying like in Royal Oak and they'll leave their car for like days and i'll be like wait you don't need your car and they're like well no i've just been getting rides from people and they'll instead of driving 45 minutes or 40 minutes like one guy particular i know lives in ann arbor went partying with a bunch of people in royal oak and this was a few years back left his car in a parking garage that parking lot there that they have came back and his bill for parking because it was days that his thing was just left there and they don't cap it well i don't know it doesn't sound like it it sounded like he had to pay like a daily rate on the whole deal because it didn't have cost him a bunch of money but he was just too lazy to go get it so there are just some people that are just like honestly lazy about doing it apple has a very good question to ask you megan what's that apple

01:27:39 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 4:

i want to know why you took it off in the first place great question i don't know but i wouldn't be surprised they were like digging holes and putting in fencing posts and stuff it might have It would have been just, like, uncomfortable to wear with a shower.

01:27:54 - 01:27:54 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:27:54 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 4:

I also wondered, like, is the guy okay? Like, is he in the hospital or jail? I don't know. Is there a way for me to look up? Well, a HIPAA exists. You can't really bring that.

01:28:07 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 3:

That's actually another really good point, but also, why do we think the worst? You never know these days.

01:28:16 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 1:

Is there ever, like, a reason? you know I know the people that do work with their hands but is there ever a reason like where people will take off their wedding ring for a reason that they don't need to be taking it off for like there are some times where people will take off their wedding ring and they're just like I just don't want to wear it because I was going out to do this and I'm like going oh that just seems a little and I'm not talking about manual labor or something like that like they're going out somewhere with a bunch of friends and they don't want to wear their wedding ring like there's sometimes where some female friends of ours will go out with their girls on a girls night out and if they're going say to downtown Detroit or whatever to go, they're like, yeah, I just don't want to wear my ring. I just don't want to have my ring on at that time. And I think a lot of it is that they think for safety purposes they don't want to have it on. But I think that in the back of your mind, you're like, okay, well, you're going on a girls' night out with a bunch of friends.

01:29:04 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 3:

Right. Are you trying to get some drinks? I know.

01:29:06 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

But I never want to say anything about it because I don't want them to say, well, no, seriously, you could not be safe wearing your ring in certain places. But texters are texting in all with scandalous things. We have really ruined you guys. We have ruined what we think is a perfectly good human being that listens to this radio show with War of the Roses and the other stuff that we do. Because everybody thinks that there is not a good reason why he's doing it. They all think that there's some kind of a little scandal.

01:29:40 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 3:

Again, I'm really surprised that his wife didn't reach out to your brother, Megan. and say, I'll just come get it.

01:29:47 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if they know each other. Oh, okay. And that was the big one. But you guys, this is me. My question then becomes, how do I use this to my advantage? Like, can I wear this ring around my neck and play it?

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 2:

off like i don't know a lover lost at sea and that i i can use it to like how can i use this

01:30:07 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

to benefit me at this point you know what it is it's like when i have people over at my house and they leave their yetis at my house i love that they left yetis i now don't have to go out and buy one so you now don't have to go out and buy a guy's wedding ring that's it that's it actually your brother should wear it and see if people think that you know at work and everything

01:30:26 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 2:

like that he got married but then his girlfriend's gonna be like oh you look really cozy Let me tell you, the first time I saw my brother with this ring, he was wearing it. And I went, because he was gone for the weekend, and I said, is there something you need to tell me? Did something happen that I missed out on? And he was so confused. He's like, no, this is Yash's ring.

01:30:44 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Amanda?

01:30:46 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, why don't you guys just call in and see if he answers?

01:30:49 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one.

01:30:50 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 3:

A different number, like, just see if he answers. And I'd be like, so...

01:30:54 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:30:55 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 4:

Where do you want to send a dozen free roses?

01:30:56 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

speaking of that can i mention something about war of the roses were you with us yesterday amanda did you listen to the show yesterday i wasn't i missed yesterday so yesterday and you this is okay so here's a homework project for you you can do this now if you want to i would hate to have you leave us but you know what it's worth it it was so good am i the a-hole yesterday a wife called this up to tell us that she found her husband's diary and he's been keeping a journal writing in it after his counseling sessions you see the backstory is he got busted some time ago cheating on her and has been going to therapy since then and they've been trying to repair the marriage she read his journal and in the journal he talked about cheating again even after cheating this time Tomorrow morning We are having her on For War of the Roses We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send A dozen free roses

01:31:57 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 3:

I hope he gets caught

01:31:59 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 1:

Well you'll have to hear what happens Because that's all I've got to say You'll have to hear what happens So listen tomorrow for that A lot of people by the way I was shocked because I thought everybody thought That she was ridiculous for reading the diary A lot of people In messages that were on social media were siding with her.

01:32:19 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 4:

That was really split, yeah.

01:32:20 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 1:

Including there was a therapist that sent in a message that said that they said it was okay to read it. Really? Yeah. And actually another therapist, I think therapist Jen, who calls us up a lot. And I think she even said that it was okay for her to read it. It's our Mojo in the Morning Only Fans Challenge. So we announced yesterday that week number three, we're going to give away 500 bucks cash to whoever can come down with the most interesting animal for our Mojo in the Morning impromptu petting zoo. Lydia, do you have a list of the animals and would you read them off to us of some of the animals that we will have on Friday morning at this thing? Not wait. If you, by the way, have an interesting pet, you got to call us up. I mean, the most interesting of them all, the lady with the skunk. And it was a... Yeah. It was not a skunk that they took the...

01:33:14 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the stink thing out of.

01:33:15 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 1:

The stink out of. It was actually just a skunk that was in her yard that she's had as a pet now.

01:33:19 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

I just thought about this, you guys. We are going to have to make sure that we all shower again in between the show and Naughty Mom's Night Out, or we're going to smell like a damn zoo in the Daxton.

01:33:28 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's true.

01:33:29 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 4:

You know, we're going to have all these animals in here.

01:33:31 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 1:

That is true. But we also talked about your dog having bad breath, and we might smell like your dog's bad breath.

01:33:36 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 4:

That is very true as well.

01:33:38 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

What are the animals that we have for potentially coming in for our petting zoo?

01:33:43 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 3:

So we have alpacas, hedgehogs, horses, tarantulas, stingray, alligator, and the skunk. And I also have someone who wants to bring in her arctic fox. Oh, that's so cool.

01:34:03 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 1:

What is an arctic fox? Is it like a regular fox?

01:34:06 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm not sure what that is.

01:34:08 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 4:

I didn't realize the skunk was coming in.

01:34:11 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 1:

The skunk lady says that This thing still has the spray stuff

01:34:17 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 2:

The arctic fox is beautiful

01:34:18 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 1:

How does somebody have one of those I don't know but the skunk one Does scare me The skunk is going to freak me out Is there a way that she could just stay in the car with the skunk Where we can just watch it That will be the animal You know how sometimes you go up in the zoo And the animals are behind the glass And you just got to sit there and look at it Can it be that kind of a thing so that we don't have to actually get close to it?

01:34:42 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 3:

I wanted her to put him on a leash.

01:34:44 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 1:

The skunk on a leash?

01:34:45 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, skunks just really freak me out.

01:34:49 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

That's actually an interesting topic right now. Besides a dog, what animal do you have on a leash that you actually will walk around with?

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 3:

I imagine Jacob's going to bring his alligator on the leash, too. I hope so.

01:35:04 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 1:

I did see, by the way, the pictures. Did you want to see what the alligator looks like, Shannon?

01:35:08 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Somebody in my neighborhood, by the way, walks a ferret on a leash. I think that's what it is.

01:35:15 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 1:

Looks like a ferret. Those freak me out, too. Here you go. Here's Jacob's. Hold on a second. Let me see if I can plug this in here, and we can get some audio out of this whole deal here.

01:35:25 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 4:

Let me see.

01:35:27 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 1:

That's his alligator.

01:35:28 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Nope.

01:35:30 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 1:

That's his. He sent it to us on. Oh, my God. Hold on.

01:35:36 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 4:

What do you do with that all day? At night when you're sleeping. That doesn't have a top on it.

01:35:43 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I have a belief that people that have alligators for pets are usually like also people that have a Pornhub account. Yeah. You know.

01:35:55 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 4:

You're going to have to ask everybody that comes in on Friday.

01:35:58 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Like, Jacob, do you have, like, a Pornhub, you know, extra value account? Tara, what's going on?

01:36:09 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys. How are you this morning? Good morning, Tara. So, I have a duck named Quackerson, and he's had six siblings when a person I knew brought them home. The other ones didn't survive. He was the last one up, very tiny, fit in my hand. And now he's huge and knows his name. He eats out of our hand and walks on a leash.

01:36:32 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So, Quackerson, your duck is on a leash?

01:36:38 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Yep, and his name is Quackerson.

01:36:40 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 1:

That is going to be the great – will you come on Friday for our Mojo in the Morning Only Fans Challenge petting zoo?

01:36:47 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 3:

I actually messaged you guys via Facebook because I've been trying to do an Only Fans Challenge. However, I will definitely do this. You will definitely do it? No, I said I've been trying to do the only thing I've done with you guys, but it's that dang duck mojo. But Friday I work. I can't come Friday.

01:37:08 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Can you come tomorrow? Can you come a day early? I want to see your duck.

01:37:11 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I am off tomorrow.

01:37:13 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 1:

Can we have her come a day early and still be eligible or no? I don't know. Here, talk to us.

01:37:20 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 4:

I think so.

01:37:21 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 1:

I mean, Siri, she can? Okay, you can do it? Okay, KP says yes. Y'all just wanted me to duck. We just wanted me to duck on a leash. That is very true. But the duck has to be on a leash, and you got to see.

01:37:34 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 4:

The duck doesn't have to be on a leash. No. The duck's not going to hurt us.

01:37:36 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 1:

No, I want it on a leash so that I can just walk down some of the neighborhoods in Farmington Hills and just see if people look at me weird.

01:37:43 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 3:

Just walk through the sales department. Quackerson also plays with three pit bulls all day long. He runs the yard with them. I don't think that's a good idea.

01:37:52 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that's a good idea.

01:37:54 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 3:

I won't bring my dogs. I won't bring the dogs, but you have to meet Quackerson.

01:37:58 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 1:

No offense. Every time she says his name. I think that the pit bull might not like it, so I'd be careful. That's actually not a pit bull sound right there.

01:38:07 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no.

01:38:08 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, be careful, all right?

01:38:09 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Quackerson. Okay. So are you guys going to get a hold of me for tomorrow's video? Yes, yes. Just hang on a second.

01:38:16 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second here right now, okay?

01:38:18 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

Love you guys.

01:38:19 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

We love you, too. Hold on. I just gave the, I don't know, a stereotype of the guy with the alligator having a Pornhub account. What does a woman with a duck have? What does she have? I'm going to try to see here. Let's see.

01:38:35 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I said. What the duck maybe?

01:38:38 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 4:

What the duck?

01:38:38 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. Stereotype. Let's stereotype for this one.

01:38:41 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 4:

No, the woman with the duck. Do you live on shopping on Zulily? No. Nope.

01:38:49 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 3:

No. No.

01:38:50 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 2:

No? Do you still post your Wordle score?

01:38:57 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

That's a good one.

01:38:58 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 1:

You guys are pissed. That's a yes, by the way. That's a yes. Yes, Mike. Nice work. Hold on one second here. Oh, my God. This is going to be fun. Mojo in the Morning Only Fans Challenge. Text us if you've got an interesting animal and you'd like to be part of this. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So Mike is 30 years old, something like that. Yeah, in my 30s. In your 30s. um and yet he lives the life of like a 60 something year old man don't you well i feel

01:39:27 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

like everybody's got a thing that they do that they're like i am way too young to be doing this and for me it is and i don't know why i do it and i hope more than just myself does it but i every time i grab my phone or go to use my phone somehow i turn on my flashlight and it stays on for like an extended period of time and I'm still using my do to do using my phone taking pictures or doing whatever with it and it's just on and it always happens where somebody goes hey do you know that your light is on like you know your flashlight is on right I do it all the time yeah

01:40:00 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 6:

It's so embarrassing because you look 80 when you do it. You look like you've never used a phone before, and this is your first time. And I feel like everybody's got that thing that they do.

01:40:09 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny, Mike, is that it never happened to me until I think I turned over the age of 45. Like when I got over 45, I think that light for some reason automatically would go on with my big fat cheek or something.

01:40:22 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 6:

Well, I think it's when they started putting the flashlight thing where you don't even have to sign into your phone to turn on the flashlight. Yeah. You don't have to log in or do anything. You can just hit it, and then all of a sudden it's on, and you don't realize it's on until you're shining it in somebody's face.

01:40:35 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 5:

And then it's right there. That's actually a really good one. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. That was a telephone number. My kids would say that the one thing that I do that makes me look even older than I already am is my sons would talk about the socks that I wear. So I wear, I think, kind of cool socks. No, these are good ones.

01:40:58 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right, but I'll show it to you. Let me see what's up.

01:40:59 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez, hold on. These ones are good. These ones are stance socks, okay?

01:41:05 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:41:05 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 6:

They're like black tube socks. Yeah, they are. Tube socks. Black.

01:41:08 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 5:

They're black. Yeah, they're nice socks. Okay. The problem, though, is the length of my socks grows a little bit sometimes. Oh, no. And my sons say that unless that I am Isaiah Thomas from the Bad Boy Pistons or a 90-year-old guy, I need to have socks that don't look like that.

01:41:27 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:41:28 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 5:

How high are we talking? Like kneecaps? Well, there's a couple of times where they got a little bit high.

01:41:33 - 01:41:35 | Speaker 3:

Even mid-calf is mm-hmm.

01:41:35 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 5:

And Joe said, and I said to Joe, I go, wait a second. I've seen you do it before, but he says, Dad, but I'm also younger. I can pull it off. I've got young legs. Yeah. You know? There's occasionally where, you know, I've got this one leg that I have here, this right leg. I got a vein that kind of sticks out a little bit, like an old person vein. And it's not a nice vein. Varicose. Yeah, varicose vein. Varicose vein. Jen what's going on Jen first off how old are you

01:42:01 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm 31

01:42:03 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 5:

And Jen what is the old person thing that you do

01:42:06 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 2:

I take screenshots When I'm trying to open up my phone

01:42:10 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 5:

Do you look Sometimes at your pictures and go What the hell was that

01:42:17 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

So unfortunately I'll like try to show Someone a picture of something And they'll be looking over my shoulder And there's like 10 screenshots of my alarm going off There's three sets of notifications. That's a great one. People are like, what are you doing? And they're like six in a row. It's terrible. Yeah.

01:42:34 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 5:

That is kind of an old person thing to do. But it's sweet that you said it to us. Daisy, how old are you? 33. And what is the old person thing that you do? Oh, wait, real quick. Are you saying goodbye to somebody right now? Pardon me? Where are you at right now? It sounded like you were saying goodbye to somebody.

01:42:52 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I was dropping my kids off to school.

01:42:54 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you can tell them that you love them and have a good day and all that stuff. Go ahead.

01:42:58 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 3:

I love you. Have a good day.

01:43:01 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 5:

I feel bad. Here we are talking to you and the kids are like, Mom doesn't love us. She didn't say she loves us and have a good day. What is the thing that you do as a 33-year-old?

01:43:10 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 3:

I wear a lot of sweaters because it's been so cold still and my boyfriend calls me a grandma because of my sweaters. But I just like to be warm. I'm little, so I need more clothes.

01:43:20 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 5:

I like that. You don't wear it in a bed, though, do you? well i go to bed with them oh that's oh no and they're there are they like old lady like uh

01:43:33 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 3:

patterns too no not all of them they're playing colors they look really knitted like grandma

01:43:40 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

yeah uh jasmine how old are you so i'm 35 and i wasn't gonna call but you talked about your socks so i um have three kids five and under and it's taking a toll on my body where i have this varicose vein which i got surgery for so i had to wear very tight compression socks for my last two pregnancies to the point where i was in starbucks and i was talking to my friends like how do people that like aren't very muscular get these things on like they're really tight in it and you have this big pregnant belly and it's hard to put it put them on oh yeah there was just like 70 year old woman sitting at a starbucks and she's like hon and i was like yeah she's like if you go to this website you can get them cheaper and let me tell you about this thing you can use and if you sit and put your leg up on your other knee and use this device it helps them go on a lot easier had a 10 minute conversation with this 70 year old woman about compression stockings and My friends were just looking at me like, what do we do?

01:44:48 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 5:

That is so funny. All right. Well, thank you for calling.

01:44:51 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 1:

That's my story. I love it.

01:44:53 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. Jen?

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Not me, but my husband.

01:45:00 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 6:

who is three years younger than me i'm 38 he's 35 and he thinks technology is ruining the world like he won't even he has a phone but he won't like make mobile deposits he hates anything that's like new or innovative like the air fryer i swear to god he's so that was his thing that was his stance i'm so serious he's like it's making people lazy i'm like oh my gosh it's just it's

01:45:27 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 2:

terrible you know what i did i i refuse by the way i refuse to make my uh text bigger on my my font text oh good yeah like i refuse to do it even if i can't read it and it's gotten to a point now where if i can't see it i actually have to screenshot what it is and then blow out but now i just don't want people looking over me to kind of see it you know to see what i'm doing

01:45:51 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 1:

do you guys do this and i don't need to do this but i swear i turned a certain age and it was it It just like came involuntarily when I'm at a restaurant and I have the menu and I hold it out.

01:46:01 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:46:02 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 1:

Like, I think I saw my parents do that. I can see perfectly fine. Can I? But I do it all. Yes. Are you in denial? Do you know I really can see perfectly fine? Trust me, I get an eye exam every year. Shannon.

01:46:13 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 2:

You say readers?

01:46:14 - 01:46:14 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:46:14 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 1:

Like, what?

01:46:15 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, the other thing, too, is I have to turn my light on on my camera to look at it. You do not. To see it. Sometimes. But some of these restaurants are way too dark. I just have to say that. But then a guy came up to me Similar situation to the lady with the socks A guy came up to me And told me about the app called Glasses Have you ever seen that app at all? No There's an app called Glasses Put it up like this The light turns on And so you put it up next to the thing Like this Whoa

01:46:45 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 1:

It's like readers

01:46:48 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 2:

It puts the readers on

01:46:50 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 1:

It makes the text really big and crisp and bright

01:46:53 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 2:

And I have that text But the problem is, I will never pull that thing out if I'm in front of you guys, except for now that I just said it. Yeah. Carrie, what is the old person thing that you do?

01:47:06 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 4:

Which one? I knit everywhere I go. I wear an eyeglasses chain. And when I drop my kids off to school, I'm cold, so I possibly wear a robe over my jacket and my clothes. How old are you? I'll be 39 next week.

01:47:24 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Hi. Hi. Is that grandma in the car with you right now? Am I grandma or mommy?

01:47:35 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Talk louder.

01:47:37 - 01:47:37 | Unknown:

Mommy.

01:47:37 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 2:

There you go. I love it. That's so cute, though. I like that. You know what's funny with the eyeglasses chain thing? There are some times where old guys can have it. Like, Kevin Costner could have that and look cool.

01:47:50 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

I need to get some for Scott Mink. Because if that man buys one more pair of readers because he doesn't know where he placed them, I'm going to scream.

01:47:56 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe it. By the way, I went into Costco, and you know that they have a box of readers? It's like 36 readers. I'm like, who are they buying the readers for? And then I realized people who wear readers forget them everywhere. They need a box of 36 of those things.

01:48:09 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 3:

Because they don't need them all the time. So he'll set them down, and then just they disappear forever.

01:48:14 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess that's the thing that happens there. What's up, Brittany? How you doing?

01:48:20 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning.

01:48:21 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Brittany? How old are you?

01:48:22 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. I'm 34, but my husband is 50.

01:48:28 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:48:28 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 5:

And so the old person thing he does, he's a really young soul, okay? But the old person thing he does is he realized he could put a weather app on his phone to see, like, he could do an actual app. He has five weather apps now. But when there's a storm coming, it's like bing, bang, zing. I'm just like, I'm like, I'm like, what's going on? He's like, oh, there's a, there's something blowing in.

01:48:58 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:02 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 2:

We've got Five Lies Tell Your Mom this morning. Tomorrow is the Thursday edition of the War of the Roses. But right now, Shannon's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:12 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, Robert De Niro was asked about the challenges of fatherhood in an interview that he did with ET Canada this week, Entertainment Tonight. and revealed in his answer he just had a baby and for the record he's 79 years old oh my god

01:49:28 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 7:

well i believe in being loving with my kids and sometimes you have to be stern about stuff so

01:49:37 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 5:

listen i know you have six kids um but like i just had a baby oh my goodness congratulations

01:49:45 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm so sorry. Case 7. His oldest daughter, Darina, is 51 years old. So there's going to be a 51-year age difference between his oldest and his youngest. He's also dad to Raphael, who's 46. Twins Julian and Aaron.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

who are 27, Elliot is 24, and little Helen Grace is 11 years old.

01:50:05 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 4:

Is that fair to that child?

01:50:06 - 01:50:07 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:50:07 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that's a very, you know, interesting life.

01:50:11 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 3:

You're only going to get a little bit of time.

01:50:13 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I know that this kid is, you know, probably going to be set financially, but, and then there's Alec Baldwin, who I know he's younger than Robert De Niro, but the guy's got 8 billion children and he's getting up there and pushing up in this age. And I wonder about that. But then I also look at Alec Baldwin and think to myself, it kind of has kept him young, I guess.

01:50:33 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, Alec Baldwin's 65.

01:50:35 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

Is he? What were you going to say, Megan? That's what I was going to say. He's 65. So he's 65 years old. I mean, how many kids does that guy have? Does he have seven, eight? He's got a ton with just this wife that he's with right now. That's wild.

01:50:49 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 3:

Sia is married. She got married to her boyfriend, Dan Bernard, over the weekend at Dolce & Gabbana's Estate in Portofino, Italy. The same venue, actually, where Kourtney Kardashian said her I do's to Travis Barker. It was a very small ceremony. There were only four guests who were invited and got to see Sia tie the knot. It is her second marriage, by the way.

01:51:11 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 4:

Is it a slow, dirty day that Sia's nuptials are in the...

01:51:15 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you don't think that that's...

01:51:16 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, I just, I didn't, you know, I've been like, oh, Sia. I haven't heard from Sia in a long time, but I don't know. It's not a day like Monday was When you had so much dirty There was so much dirty the last two days

01:51:29 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

I've had to skip stuff

01:51:30 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 4:

We would not have even gone to your wedding If that was the case

01:51:34 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

Or did you have so much bad stories come out About her in the past couple of years That her PR team is like positivity She's married

01:51:41 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 3:

And L.A. Judd denied a motion for a new trial For Tory Lanez Who was convicted of three felonies back in December For shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot Like, can this story be done already? Superior Court Judge Hereford rejected arguments from Tori's lawyer that evidence was wrongly admitted at the trial that he presided over. And he said the exclusion of that disputed evidence wouldn't have even made a difference at the trial anyway. So Tori will be sentenced for convictions of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in his vehicle, and then discharging that firearm with gross negligence. He could, again, get up to 22 years in prison and face his deportation to his home of Canada. And lastly, this story's all over the place, and it is crazy. A Utah woman who authored a children's book about grief and loss after the death of her husband last year has been arrested for his murder. Corey Richens is accused of poisoning her husband, Eric, with fentanyl at their home near Park City. A medical examiner said they found five times the legal dose of fentanyl in his system after he died in March of last year. Corey allegedly told police she had made Eric a little drink, a vodka cocktail to celebrate him selling a home. Went on to soothe one of their three kids to sleep in their bedroom. she later returned, found him unresponsive and cold to the touch before calling 911. Well, right after he died, she wrote this book called Are You With Me? And it's a picture book to help kids cope with the death of a loved one. But two months after she appeared on a local TV station to promote that book, she's now being charged with his murder. And it was his family who went to investigators and said they suspected that she had killed him. He had warned them, apparently If anything happens to me It's Corey It's my wife Holy crap, this story is going to blow up

01:53:49 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 4:

Why has our good friend from Dateline NBC Keith Morrison He will do it Not picked up that story yet

01:53:55 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 3:

This is a brand new story It usually takes them a while to get the facts together To make a Dateline

01:54:00 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys have a person that if you get murdered Do you know who it is? I have a list of like four people Where if I get murdered, it's one of them

01:54:07 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 4:

Are any of us on that list?

01:54:09 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 2:

No, but my dad and my brother both have the list Because I'm like, it's going to be one of them Really? Yeah

01:54:15 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 4:

Wow I kind of want to know what you did to him Me too

01:54:19 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 1:

Conversation for off the air I'm really the only one You don't have one person where if I'm murdered, it's them Oh, I have one person Thank you

01:54:29 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 4:

01:55:00 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 1:

this is kind of scary so thanks for listening appreciate you guys Shannon your fiance you told us has listed his house he's selling his house yep yep and yesterday something very scary happened to you and to Wes what happened well so he has because obviously his house is up for sale he has

01:55:25 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 4:

a for sale sign out in the yard. Um, and we were there hanging out doing some last minute work in the house, um, in the, in the basement. And all of a sudden we heard like noises upstairs and I looked at him and I'm like, the kids aren't supposed to be here, right? Nope. His kids were with their mom. Um, but I could hear somebody walking around upstairs. So we walk up from the basement into his kitchen and there was just a woman walking around the house standing there in the kitchen she had seen the house for sale and his front door was open the storm door like the glass storm door was closed but she just opened the door and decided to walk right in and check out the house for herself wait but who walks into a storm door like opened the storm door to walk in yeah that's wild oh yeah hey neighbor yeah yeah i don't know if she thought it was an open house which it definitely wasn't there was no sign that said open house i mean it

01:56:29 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 1:

was very clearly only us there we used to have a neighbor that lived next door to us that would do that he would just randomly like pop in put the head and go hey neighbor he would that was kind

01:56:39 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 4:

of his sign oh my god it was so weird and she acted like there was nothing wrong with what she did did she look friendly um she did look friendly she didn't look crazy or anything but inside i'm like you crazy because you just walked into this house without knocking or ringing the doorbell or being invited in i've seen this movie before a time or two

01:57:01 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 1:

girl you crazy um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 have you ever had that happen to you where somebody just walked into your your house gail good morning guys and i'm glad she wasn't a crazy

01:57:19 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 3:

lee because i had a crazy person come in my house so my son my oldest is now 15 so this was a long time ago he was two days old i had just gotten home me and my husband were sitting there eating hot dogs and mind you while i was giving birth to my son we were robbed my apartment got broken into and I'm sitting here eating hot dogs and this kid literally walks in my apartment and sees me and my husband and he's like oh I'm sorry wrong I gotta dump that hold on a second there's something

01:57:49 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 1:

by the way the way that you just say the f-word was as angry as you must have been that day but

01:57:55 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 3:

you cannot use that on the radio okay I'm so sorry I was shaking I was so mad my I had a two day old and then a week later the same kid broke into my apartment and robbed us again oh my gosh my neighbor's house asking for a plastic bag for dvds and then when i got home and i was like yeah for my dvds we ended up pinning him down and he went to jail and whatnot for it but yeah

01:58:20 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 1:

people locked your doors people are crazy yeah yep thank you for the call i appreciate it by the way that was seriously and i'm sad that not everybody could hear that because obviously We'd lose our license But it was the most vicious sounding F word I've ever heard It was amazing

01:58:37 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm so sorry

01:58:39 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

I try to all the time But Chelsea's not very good sometimes

01:58:44 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 4:

I open, I'm like Wes I open every door, I leave the storm doors Just like there Nope, absolutely not I don't even open my blinds just in case somebody thinks somebody's home No I guess I just do it, like I have the kids running in and out All the time, I don't know

01:58:59 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 1:

When my kids were younger, yeah, we would open, our garage door was open all day, everybody, the doors were open, but as I've gotten older, and as times have gotten crazier, I right now wish I could just keep my alarm on in the house, you know what I mean, just all the time, because I always worry about, you hear these stories of things happening. What's going on, Pam?

01:59:18 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

so when my husband and i were dating i was invited to up you know we had a group of friends and um we were invited to a party and i went ahead because he was working or something and i didn't have the address because i'd always been to my friend's house and i just told him like what street it was on so look for my car there's a white truck on the driveway so i'm at the party he like shows up an hour later and he pulls up to this house with a white truck didn't look for my car walked into the house walked through the house into the kitchen there's four guys sitting there having beer and he's like you know starts chatting with them and stuff and then she decides to find me

02:00:00 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 5:

And he goes, so is the party downstairs? And they're like, what party? And he goes, you're at the party. You know, I'm looking for Pam. And he goes, there's no Pam here. Oh, God. There's no party here.

02:00:13 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Poor guy was at the wrong house.

02:00:17 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 5:

The wrong house. They invited him for a beer. He's like, oh, I got to go find my girl.

02:00:22 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 2:

That was nice of you guys to do that, though.

02:00:25 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 5:

We used to talk about that.

02:00:27 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

That's hysterical. Kate, what's happening?

02:00:30 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I walked into the wrong house with my husband for like an Easter dinner at my aunt's house. And I walked, I've been to her house a million times, a million times. I walked through the garage. I'm like, wow, she cleaned the garage. This looks great. I walked in and there's like.

02:00:47 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, but we also cannot say that word on the radio. But yes, especially when we're talking about Easter, you know, we can't, you can't use dirty words like that when the Easter.

02:00:57 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 1:

The difference with all of these, by the way Is you had intended To go into the correct house This woman very clearly knew It was not her house

02:01:07 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 2:

She wasn't supposed to be there One last one Tracy No dirty words, okay

02:01:16 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 6:

Nope, no dirty words

02:01:18 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 2:

No F word, no S word No P word, no T word Go ahead

02:01:24 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I've been listening to that No, I was sitting in the morning having a good morning treat with my coffee, and I all of a sudden heard my back door open, and I'm like, well, what the heck's going on? I walked back there. I looked down the stairs, and the lady says, hello. I said, yeah. She said, I'm here to get my nails done. I said, honey, this is a house. It's not a nail place. I said, no, honey. I've lived here for over 40 years, and I have not had no nail place between here and 24th Street. I said, we are close to the water, so you might want to go out and check your GPS. I guarantee it says, sorry to you, not poor Huron.

02:02:01 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

02:02:02 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 6:

She walked back out to her car. She came back to my door and said, ma'am, I'm so sorry. You are so right. She says, I feel awful. I'm so sorry. I said, no, hopefully you can find a good nail place, but there's not one here between here and 24th Street unless you want to cross the water.

02:02:18 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you are, that's, you know what? I thought you kept calling her honey. That is truly what the people in Sarnia are. You're a Sarnia lady?

02:02:29 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm Port Huron.

02:02:30 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well, no, Port Huron, different there. I was going to say, the Sarnia people are really, really, no, I'm just kidding. Port Huron people are nice people, too.

02:02:37 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 6:

No, no, Port Huron, no, I understand. Port Huron people are not very nice at all.

02:02:41 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. No, I didn't say that. I would just say that if you go to Port Huron, don't walk into somebody's house you know it's at some person's house because that person might have themselves they might be somebody that's a second amendment lover and that's fine I'm good with that. Alright, thank you for that.

02:03:02 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 6:

Right, right. Well, after that I started locking my doors because my thing is I live in that neighborhood. They call the red zone so yeah, any point in time anybody can walk through your door.

02:03:13 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate it. Alright, take care. I'll do you on the morning show. So, one of my really, really good friends is a stay-at-home dad, and he runs a very good business, a big business, but does it out of his house. But he's with the kids all day, and he actually homeschools the kids, too.

02:03:37 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

02:03:38 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

So, it's unbelievable what he does. And here's the wildest part of this whole thing. He's got all of his hair. He's not gray. And he hasn't lost his mind yet I can't understand it Mike What is his secret? I don't know what his secret is But he did have something happen to him the other day Hold on I want to call him up because I want to ask him about this And I have him tell you guys this story The question I'm going to ask the listeners is What did you do when you went to a public restroom And they did not have toilet paper And you didn't realize it until it was too late Will?

02:04:17 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hi, Mojo.

02:04:19 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, buddy?

02:04:20 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

02:04:21 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 2:

Good. So, Will, I was just describing you and the fact that you have complete sanity, yet you are home with the kids, homeschooling them, and also dealing with trying to keep the house together, and then also it was your wife Jessica's birthday the other day, right?

02:04:40 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 4:

The 40th birthday is today.

02:04:42 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Today! Happy birthday, Jessica! Happy birthday, Jessica! celebrating her 40th birthday today. Is it okay for us to say what you ended up going and getting at the store? Because will she know to the surprise?

02:04:56 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Already, I'm bad at keeping surprises, so I gave that.

02:05:00 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 3:

surprise out uh yesterday on the way to uh her her birthday dinner with our uh with our office

02:05:05 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 1:

okay all right so here's the interesting thing he went to party city okay anybody that's ever been to part to a party city have you ever guys do they have party cities in west michigan and in toledo yeah of course all right anybody's ever been there post covid knows this simply just to go get some balloons is a task these days unless you pre-order them like months ahead of time or something right it's always like craziness trying to get those things but it happened to you will that you went in there to go get your balloons for jessica and then you started getting the bubble

02:05:41 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

gut so anybody knows if you've been into party city and you walk in the door they always say welcome to the party well there's never anybody there and it's never a party but i'm pretty sure made at a party.

02:05:55 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 1:

You had to go use the bathroom at a party city. Where is the bathrooms at Party City? Is it like the back corner or something?

02:06:03 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 3:

Actually, that's exactly where it's at, in the back corner of the building on the one on Orchard Lake Road, and you have to try to find it. So we're there, picked up a couple of the two big gold 40 balloons, and it hit me. And I'm like, all right, kids, I'm like, we've got to go to the bathroom real quick. So we're walking all the way to the back. We were on the way to take Danny to his jiu-jitsu class. This was on Monday. Big shout-out to Roots Combat Club in Boothill Club. There you go. Get it. World-class facility. World-class facility. All right. Okay. He plays into this. So Danny's wearing Crocs and socks. We walk all the way back there. I reach for the toilet paper. There is none. Oh, no.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. My worst fear.

02:06:51 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 3:

I wrecked their toilet. Kids are outside the bathroom because they're old enough. Danny just turned seven. He can watch his sister. They're right outside the door. I can hear him. And I'm thinking, I'm like, what am I going to do? I'm like, oh, it's jujitsu class with Coach Alex today. I go, Danny, I go, take off your Crocs and take off your socks. I go, just put your Crocs on. He's like, why? I go, because you don't wear socks at jujitsu. It'll be easier. It's faster when we get there in a few minutes. He's like, okay. Take them off. I open the door real quick, hands me the socks. It's toilet paper piece number one, toilet paper.

02:07:28 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 2:

Here's my question. Here's my question. Go ahead. What's your question? How'd you get from the toilet to the door? What was the stance?

02:07:36 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 3:

You know what? It's kind of like that squatty potty product. I just squatted right over, didn't open the door, but like one creak, Danny already had his socks off, boom, grabbed him, shut the door, a little less than 10 seconds. I threw the socks away. I didn't flush them. Threw them away. And we kept going.

02:07:53 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing. You know what? That's a dad right there. That's a dad right there. No way. No way. So wait, why could you not do this? You're in Party City. Maybe your kids aren't old enough to do this. Definitely not old enough to do it. But my thought would have been, we're in Party City. There's got to be, like, Spider-Man napkins or something on one of the counters. You know?

02:08:16 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 3:

That's a long jiu-jitsu Roots Combat Club bear crawl all the way to the place.

02:08:25 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

How do you wipe with socks? Do you put your hand, like, up the sock like a puppet?

02:08:30 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Great question. I mean, Danny's seven, so his feet are kind of small. I just did the one finger.

02:08:37 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, we don't need to get into that whole thing. Wait, when you left, Will, when you got done with this after using, you know, your son's socks, did you tell the people that say, hey, welcome to the party behind the counter? Hey, we need to get some toilet paper in that place?

02:08:56 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 3:

No, actually, I walked out and they said, have a good day. And I walked out and said, have a great day with a crap eating grin on my face. Walked out. I mean, that was it. I felt bad. I felt embarrassed, but not too bad. So I just kind of walked out.

02:09:12 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what if they were Danny's favorite socks? Would you have done that if they were Danny's favorite socks?

02:09:18 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, 100%. I absolutely would have. I probably went on Amazon right there and ordered another pair for him. If they were Hulk socks, I would not have done that. But I think they were like Thor or another superhero. But they weren't the Hulk socks, 100%.

02:09:30 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's not a bad place to actually not have toilet paper because there's obviously access to go get it.

02:09:37 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 2:

There's a ton of other things, yeah.

02:09:38 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 1:

What would you have done? Would you ever consider this? Would you ever consider pulling your pants up to a point where they weren't touching your Botox?

02:09:45 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

No. You know, honestly, what I probably would have done, especially if I didn't have anybody with me and I was by myself, right? Like you, Will, were very resourceful and lucky to have your kids. I would have probably taken off my underwear and used my...

02:10:00 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 4:

underwear to wipe and then throwing away my underwear yeah but what happens when you're wearing like the the thongy thought like i like like the the thin second skin thong or whatever i mean at least something i don't know well well did you think about that like what if your son

02:10:16 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 2:

didn't have socks on i would have found i would have found some sort of paper product without having to go too far i don't know what it would have been but money yes i would have yeah just Just walk down, ask somebody for a dollar. I'll be right back.

02:10:34 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 1:

The worst is I had that same thing happen to me, and I was getting ready to start a remote for the station years back. And I remember we were doing a remote at a cell phone store, and they let me use their bathroom that they have at a cell phone store, which is in the back area there.

02:10:49 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 4:

You pooped in that?

02:10:51 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 1:

And all I remember was there was no toilet paper, so I picked up my phone, called the cell phone store, And I had to go through the national hotline of, thank you for calling Verizon Wireless, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, hit for the store locator. Hi, I'm in the toilet. The funny thing was, when they finally brought me toilet paper and told me that there's, you know, here you go, you do the whole thing, they said, we were wondering how long you were going to be. They thought I was in there, you know, having a really, really bad time. Gosh.

02:11:23 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, if this doesn't say happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Jessica, on her 40th birthday. Oh, there you go. That's right. Your husband's a dirtbag. I don't know what else.

02:11:33 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 1:

No, no, that's sweet. That is so sweet that you did that. All right, Will. We'll talk to you later, buddy. Have a great day and happy birthday to Jessica. Bye, guys. Take care of yourself. All right. It is Mojo in the morning show. Real quick, I want to update a couple of things. One is, I want to update, Lydia the other day was talking about how she's going to Washington, D.C. in July, and she said that she was sending notes to our governor, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, to try to get a White House visit. and so she was actually like personally sending notes to uh to the governor so i ended up reaching out to the governor's people and i we've been going back and forth lydia and i'm hoping that that that works out to try to get her on the show with us so that you can ask her if you can get you know a a white house tour because you kind of have to ask like a political person to be able to

02:12:33 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

get it like you're in in that and then i actually didn't realize that you can't just go tour do they offer like a different tour or something is that what this is they don't do i don't believe the

02:12:43 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 1:

white house everything in dc is free did you know that yeah it's awesome yeah so everything in dc all the museums and stuff like that are amazing yeah but i don't think the white house you can just naturally go and just get it i don't know what the story is but i know that you can get to the front of the line if you want so to speak with that the other thing that somebody told me was to call scott sands oh god and ask scott sands our program director for 92.5 kiss fm and the national programming guy for the state of ohio you know i used to work on the campaign

02:13:16 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 5:

and so and so and this buddy used to be an intern of mine and i used to do this and oh he's like

02:13:22 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

real play well he's got the he's got the uh the talk show too um and he knows governor dewine from Ohio so we can we got two governors to play with Lydia but you would think Scott Sands had a room at the White House that he stays in yeah he stays in the Lincoln bedroom exactly he actually

02:13:39 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 5:

stays in the the president's residential suite actually to be to be honest with you it would

02:13:45 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

not surprise me no I'll randomly I'll I'll like see pictures of Scott Sands smoking cigars with like Bono and I'm like why is Bono or you know why is Britney why is Britney Spears smoking cigars with Scott Sands, of all people.

02:13:59 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 5:

I helped train right drops of Jupiter. That's what he would say.

02:14:05 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 1:

But maybe there's a way to do that. But Lydia, you also got some calls, too, from some listeners of ours that said that they would help you. She's running back and forth. She's trying to answer calls and do all this stuff.

02:14:17 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

I was trying to get listener Favreuse on the line. She said that she could get me into the east wing of the White House. So I didn't know that there were certain parts.

02:14:26 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the tour, that's the, remember I was mentioning the other day that when I went on the tour, I was like, oh, this is nice. But then I realized the West Wing is where all the action happens.

02:14:36 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so that's where our president lives.

02:14:39 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 1:

That's where the president lives. That's where the Oval Office is. That's where all the people's offices are. The West Wing is the happening place. The East Wing is like.

02:14:50 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 4:

All the historical like. Parties.

02:14:52 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of like where they do the, you know, let's put it. this way i'll give you an analogy the east wing is like

02:15:00 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 7:

Like, the rooms in your house that your mom never lets you open up, you know, at all, because that's where she throws all the crap.

02:15:07 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Don't sit on that couch. Yeah. That room?

02:15:09 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 7:

That's the room, yeah.

02:15:11 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 3:

Like the plastic on the couch.

02:15:14 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yes, it's kind of like that. And they got ropes and things like that. That's where they do the tours and stuff. So who is this person that said this to you?

02:15:20 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 6:

Her name is Fay Ruse, and she listens from D.C. So she- Fay Ruse. Yeah, Fay Ruse. So she listens and she was saying that she said she can get it for me pretty easily.

02:15:31 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 7:

That's why.

02:15:31 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 6:

Why do we have so many DC listeners?

02:15:34 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. We really do, though.

02:15:37 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 7:

Who are these people that are, do they contact us on a regular basis or what?

02:15:41 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I remember when I talked about wanting to go to DC because I've never been there. People slid into my DMs and were talking about I live there. I was, I'm shocked.

02:15:50 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 7:

Maybe there's a lack of entertaining morning shows or something. I don't know. No, actually, there's a good show.

02:15:55 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I think they have a good one.

02:15:57 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Intern John Show is a good show. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But this is actually kind of cool. So I'm hoping that Governor Whitmer will do this. Like, I was kind of really hoping that she would be interested in coming on with us. So I'm just kind of putting out the plea and seeing if she'll do this and help you out. Lydia, I actually even used this. I even said that you are a proud member of the Chaldean community.

02:16:23 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

02:16:23 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 7:

Because the Chaldean community is one of those communities that, you know, does a lot, you know, for politics, right? They do a lot for people. You guys have money. You donate to the political people.

02:16:35 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 6:

Yep. I think it's the Chaldean Chamber of Commerce. That's right.

02:16:40 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 7:

Martin Mano.

02:16:41 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 6:

I'm such a proud Chaldean. Look at me. I know all my stuff.

02:16:45 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 7:

Let me see if I can call Martin and see if Martin will help you out here. Hold on a second.

02:16:49 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 3:

I feel like he knows everybody.

02:16:50 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. He really does. And he does, and he owes me, because they had their, God, what, 25th anniversary or something like that of their dinner, and he didn't have me host it this year. Who hosted? And then he was told that he had to invite me, and invited me like two weeks before it, knowing that I probably already had something going on that night. Wow. So, I don't know if he'll, yeah. I know, it was very sad. It made me sad.

02:17:18 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 4:

I was only invited to co-host with you one time and then never asked again, so what is What did I do?

02:17:25 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 3:

It's really fun.

02:17:27 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 7:

I think our bill was so expensive.

02:17:30 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Hi, you've reached Martin. I'm unable to take your call at this time. If you're calling during business hours, it may be best to call me at 249.

02:17:37 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, hold on. I don't want to do that one. Okay. All right. Hold on.

02:17:42 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 2:

$1,200. Otherwise, I'll call you back. That was easy.

02:17:46 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 7:

Just call it. You have an email.

02:17:49 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 1:

At the tone, please record your message. When you've finished recording, you may hang up or press 1 for more options.

02:17:57 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 7:

Martine, it's Mojo. I need your help. Something very, very important for one of the fellow Chaldean refugees here. Okay? So we need to help her, okay?

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Martine. It's Lydia.

02:18:11 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 7:

This is Lydia.

02:18:12 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 6:

And I need help to get into the White House. So can you help me?

02:18:16 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 7:

can you call any of your your nice people that you know in DC and see if we can get her a White House tour thank you Martin talk to you later bye bye

02:18:27 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 6:

say love you love you

02:18:29 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 7:

this would be really cool if maybe they could step it up to the past you know like even further than doing the East Wing like could you imagine if somebody's well listen we've had we've had almost every single president that has ever been around in our broadcast days on you know i mean like we've had them all come on the show with us maybe we can get somebody to be able to like hey we'll throw you a little opportunity to be on the air with us if you give lydia a chance like you know it'd be cool to go into the room where they do like their press conferences and stuff honestly i think that would be really cool what is that what is that room called there's there's like a name to it or something like that isn't it i don't know the press secretary yeah that would be kind of cool

02:19:18 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 6:

the oval office is where the president like signs off on stuff right that's it that's the actually

02:19:23 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 7:

they're you know that's the his office that's the president's office bonus points if i can sit in

02:19:27 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 5:

joe biden's chair oh my that's not gonna happen that's absolutely not gonna happen no you want to go into like the rose garden and stuff that's what you want how about this if we can't get you

02:19:38 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 7:

into the white house what if we got you a trip to like california to go on the movie set of one of

02:19:45 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 3:

the fake white houses the west like scandal yeah don't they have that scandal one was a good one

02:19:51 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 7:

but but doesn't there's got to be somebody too that you know you always see these stories sometimes where people are like obsessed with political stuff Thank you.

02:20:00 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 3:

So they remake, like, the Oval Office in their house. Like in their basement. Yeah. That's weird. But you know what, though? Is it really, though? Yes. There are people that collect baseball cards. There are people that have old memorabilia from, like, the old Tiger Stadium, like an old, you know, seat that was there. What's wrong about that?

02:20:20 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 5:

If you have an Oval Office in your basement, you best believe the FBI has a file on you. Why? What's wrong with that? That's weird. It's weird. That's overstepping boundaries. What do you go up to? That's up to no good.

02:20:32 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you're telling me that if you could actually have a real life Hogwarts, you know, whatever, I don't, give me something from Harry Potter. I can't think of anything.

02:20:42 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 5:

No, I like listening to you strongly. No. Come up with any magical word.

02:20:45 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Give me a-

02:20:47 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 5:

The Great Hall.

02:20:48 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 3:

Hermione's house or something.

02:20:50 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 5:

A common room.

02:20:51 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 3:

Yes. You're telling me you wouldn't have that in your basement?

02:20:54 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 5:

No, I would, but I don't think that people, I don't know. I don't want the FBI to start listening to us. I don't want the Secret Service to start listening to us. I'm not saying that then. But I think that there's a difference. Let's just say that. I think there's a difference.

02:21:09 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't think that there's anything wrong with that. I think that that is kind of cool. Like, you're a historian if you like that stuff.

02:21:14 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 2:

I think one of the Smithsonian's has, like, a setup where you can go and you can, like, give a press briefing and you can sit at the Oval Office desk, don't they? You were there more recent than I was.

02:21:25 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that they do. I think they also have something like that. But I will say this to you. I don't find it weird that if you had one of those at home, I often thought that if I had a big enough yard, I would love to have my yard be like a baseball diamond.

02:21:37 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 5:

That would be cool.

02:21:38 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 3:

I thought that would be cool. See, that's cool, but not having a, but having an oval office in your basement.

02:21:43 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm just, I'm assuming you're planning something if you have an oval office.

02:21:46 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, what's going on?

02:21:48 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up? Mojo and the crew. How you guys doing? Good morning.

02:21:51 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's going on?

02:21:53 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 1:

I actually used to live in DC. See, I live in California now, but I can tell you about my experience. So I had a friend that worked with the Obama ministry, so she gave me a tour of the West Wing. And I know you guys always say this in the morning, don't talk about poop stores, but I actually pooped in Obama's toilet. You did not.

02:22:10 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 3:

That's so great. That's so cool.

02:22:12 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 1:

I swear to God. His bathroom is literally right across from the Oval Office, and I told my friend, I was like, I really got to go. So I'm thinking there was like presidential toilet paper. It was like scotch toilet paper. But, yeah, my friend called me, and she was like, where are you? I was like, I'm in Obama's toilet. I'm pooping.

02:22:31 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. I always thought that they did have all that because I heard from people that have gone to the White House before that they even have, like, White House hand towels and things.

02:22:41 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 2:

Maybe inflation hit them, too.

02:22:43 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 1:

No, there's a room called the Million Dollar Room. It's right in the hallway where the vice president's office is and the president and the Oval Office. So everything in there is like a million dollars. Don't touch it. And also, when Obama was walking in the hallway, they tell you, don't move. I didn't move. I actually saw his daughter because it was her birthday, stuff like that. So, yeah, you'll see a lot. That is very, very cool. Obama!

02:23:10 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible.

02:23:12 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and even in the vice president's office, there's books of every president that, or every vice president that has wrote about what's happening, you know? you'll see the war room um there's so many things that's incredible yeah so take advantage i wish i could help you out with my friend in dc but she

02:23:35 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 3:

no longer works for she's not there she's no no no say it like the drop

02:23:41 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 1:

thanks kevin yeah you're welcome guys take care britney what's happening it's mojo in the morning

02:23:53 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 4:

hello no i was just calling i live in the dc area so you can go into the east wing as a public tour and that one is still very cool if you can get in there um do need a sponsor for the west wing unfortunately i cannot be a sponsor but um sometimes if you're kind of like around the area you can meet a lot of people and you never know who's really important so a lot of like the times like their speech writers like you know the lower level people for the president can get you in there so i've gone in with like a speech writer when our last president was in office um so again if you just meet somebody they could still be able to get you in there and it's very easy for

02:24:33 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 3:

whatever to do all right well we're going to try we're still working on you know trying to do it with our local political people we're going to try as best as we can to make this happen and the reason why some people may not know who Lydia is but literally Lydia doesn't ask for much like she does all of our you know dirty work here um does everything you know that we ask and and works really hard and this is kind of like a dream for her so we're going to try to see if we can make it happen and i'll be honest with you you think people

02:25:00 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 6:

Some people think, oh, well, these guys, you know, they could probably get whatever they want. We can't even get Pistons tickets for free. Wait, that is true.

02:25:09 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 3:

Did you see where they sat?

02:25:10 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 6:

And when they do give us tickets, we're like in the nosebleed seats.

02:25:16 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'll reach out to a few people and see if I can get any contacts that I'll be able to get her in. And I'll see what I can do.

02:25:24 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 6:

Thanks, Brittany. We appreciate it.

02:25:25 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Have a great day, guys.

02:25:27 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 6:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right we'll get you caught up on what's trending this morning the dirty on the 30 man when that news came down yesterday about morgan wall and i know that our group text was just going crazy because we all kind of thought well maybe this morgan wallen cancelate canceling a couple of shows was going to be a thing of the past and everything

02:25:53 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 3:

will be okay but it turns out that it's not good yeah bad news morgan wallen fans you might already know this but for everybody else he is gonna be kind of quiet for the next couple of weeks

02:26:03 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 4:

i got some bad news from my doctors at the vanderbilt voice center yesterday after taking 10 days of vocal rest i performed three shows last weekend in florida and by the third one i felt terrible so i went in and got scoped yesterday and they told me that i vocal cords, and that I have vocal fold trauma. Their advice is that I go on vocal rest for six weeks.

02:26:32 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I believe those shows are going to be rescheduled, but he is going to miss some stuff that he can't make up, like a performance this week at the ACM, Lifting Lives, Topgolf Tee Off, the 58th annual ACM Awards he will not be at.

02:26:44 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 4:

They told me that if I do this the right way, that I'll get back to 100%. And they also said that if I don't listen and I keep singing and I permanently damaged my voice. So for the longevity of my career, this is just the choice I had to make. I hate it. But I love you guys. I appreciate all the support that you always give me. I'll see you soon, and I'll be back better than ever.

02:27:10 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 6:

Man, you know, I don't know how bad it is, but it's got to be bad if you're doing that because rescheduling these things can become, you know, a bitch to do. but um you got to take care of that whole thing and now i feel bad because we all kind of thought it was something other than his voice yeah so former fox news host tucker carlson announcing

02:27:33 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 3:

yesterday that he's going to be bringing his show to twitter hey it's tucker carlson the best you

02:27:40 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 5:

can hope for in the news business at this point is the freedom to tell the fullest truth that you

02:27:45 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 6:

can't so can he do that though because of uh those limits he has uh contract and stuff right

02:27:52 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 3:

yeah his announcement came after he actually accused fox news of fraud and breach of contract um so in an attempt to strengthen his position ahead of a legal battle regarding his non-compete clause against fox news this is what he's doing his fox contract expires in january of 2025 and network reportedly wants to offer to pay tucker 20 million dollars a year not to work so i don't know how that works because obviously he can't go and hop over to another broadcasting company with that contract with that non-compete but does twitter count they said that uh two broadcast

02:28:29 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 6:

companies have already said they would pay him over a hundred million dollars yeah come to them

02:28:34 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 3:

because they believe one of them that news nation or news max i get them confused but fox's ratings

02:28:39 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 6:

Fox News' radiance since Tucker Carlson has left are down 1.2 million, 1.2 million viewers. Wow.

02:28:48 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

And you only had maybe like 3.1 million viewers on average in that time slot anyway, right? Right, yeah. Did you guys even know that MTV News was still on?

02:28:56 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 6:

It is?

02:28:58 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 3:

Apparently.

02:28:59 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 6:

MTV News. Remember the opening? You hear it.

02:29:02 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 3:

Launched more than three decades ago with Kurt Loder hosting everything. Well, it is now over for good due to massive internal layoffs. Layoffs going to be hitting 25% of employees across the Showtime, MTV, and Paramount Media Networks groups. And Tampa Bay pitcher, Tampa Bay Rays pitcher, there we go, Zach Eplin, was not happy about being told to take off his wedding ring during a recent game against Pittsburgh. In his most recent start, which was last Thursday, I believe, the ump told him he's got to remove his wedding ring, and that went down after the first inning.

02:29:37 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

I've told every umpire that's asked me to take it off. I said, hey, look, I respect what you guys do, but I'm going to keep it on. It's very important to me, and most umpires are cool with it, and, you know, they'll kind of let MLB take care of it if they need to. But this umpire crew was kind of a little different. They seemed a little on edge, but, you know, it's part of it. I really, I said, if you're going to eject me out of the game, then I'll...

02:30:00 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 3:

take it off and that's what they ended up coming out and telling me on the mound was that they're going to toss me out of the game if i didn't take off my rubber ring so um i took it off now here's

02:30:09 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 1:

the strange part he's right-handed which means he's wearing his wedding ring on his glove hand but the ump said that he could still be hiding a sticky substance under his ring take his glove off during an inning to get it and you know they do the checks right yeah between innings right

02:30:26 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 4:

Why are we coming down on a player who's actually wanting to show his love and devotion for his wife by wearing his wedding ring when these players are probably on the road banging every person that they possibly can?

02:30:40 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 2:

Nobody cares if they're cheating or not. They're all cheating when it comes to their partner. They're all cheating in the game. I don't believe that.

02:30:47 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

02:30:47 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 2:

You don't think all of the pitchers are cheating?

02:30:49 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 4:

I think that some of them were Back when they could use that special substance That tiger or whatever that was called But I think that now It's like, and who cares if they're cheating It's baseball for God's sake Because you can't cheat I would hope that they would I hope that they do anything they can to make the game more interesting Yeah, I want them on roids too So they're hitting home run after home run I miss the days, don't you miss the days Of like Mark McGuire And Sammy Sosa

02:31:17 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

And God forbid one of these teams cheats against your favorite team, and then you're like, oh, this isn't my show. They need to crack

02:31:23 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 4:

down on this. We need to teach the Tigers how to cheat more.

02:31:27 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

02:31:31 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:31:44 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning show. So, Got a lot to talk about here But we gotta get to the bottom of this The weird thing that happened To a member of the show Our producer KP As she was leaving and going home yesterday It was the longest drive of your life

02:32:06 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Well it normally is a pretty long drive from here to home But the light that I was sitting at was particularly long Because I knew, I knew I recognized this charger that was driving right next to me And I looked over for a quick second, and I'm like, oh, shoot. And I looked the other way and prayed that he just didn't look over or notice me. And we got up to the light. He pulled up. And I have all my windows down because it's such a beautiful day yesterday, and the music's blaring and whatever. Pull up to the light, and I'm trying not to turn my head, and I just hear, Kristen! KP! Like, my name's Kristen, but he calls me Kristen, for those who don't know my real name. And I'm like, oh, no, no, no, no. And I look over at him, and I'm like, hey. Who is he? Who was it? It was like an ex-bling. It was like a guy that I didn't 100% date, but definitely went out with.

02:33:05 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:33:05 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 3:

So I would call it like an ex.

02:33:07 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 4:

How long ago had you guys been together?

02:33:11 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 3:

So we weren't together. I'm just going to make that clear. But it was before I left.

02:33:15 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 4:

Together, like, you know, okay.

02:33:17 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 3:

It was before I left to move to Traverse City last year, so it was about a year ago, and we just, you know, kind of just ended, and yeah, nothing happened after that. I wasn't really interested, actually.

02:33:29 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 4:

How did it end?

02:33:30 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Not really bad. I just didn't, I mean, we, hmm, I don't even know.

02:33:34 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 4:

But did it end civilly? Like, were you nice? Did you?

02:33:37 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 3:

I think it was just very clear that I wasn't interested in that way anymore, so yeah, but anyway, I looked over at him, and he, it was so awkward, because he's he's a very kind guy and he's very conversational and my truck and his charger was like they're right next to each other but there was quite a bit of distance between the two of us so it was really awkward when he would ask me hey how have you been I like your truck what are you doing how was your day from the light and it's like bruh I haven't seen you in like a year and i'm like sitting in the light really nervous that it's turning green so i'm having to look at you and answer your question and then look up back at the light because we're the very front it's like there's not a car in front of us so we we don't have the signal to go until we see the light turn green and he's doing the same thing he's looking at me he's asking a question he's looking at the light and then looking back at me and this goes on i feel like for two minutes and it was so weird the weirdest thing i ever experienced like when you're with someone And it's awkward in person You can just go hey nice to see you And walk away When the conversation's over at a light You're sitting in your car with all your windows down Staring at the light in silence

02:34:50 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah and it goes really slow At that point doesn't it

02:34:53 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 3:

The longest light of my life Did he text you after? No Okay cause I thought he was probably

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 2:

I'm probably thinking the conversation's not done, I have more to say.

02:35:02 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 1:

When you see somebody at a light, too, not only is the light long, like it's somebody that you don't want to see, but also you don't know what you should do. So you kind of like sit there and go, should I look to my other side so I'm not looking at them? Or should I...

02:35:16 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Should I pretend to check my phone? Yeah. Should I fiddle with the radio?

02:35:20 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 3:

I did. I was like, oh, maybe I should switch the radio or something. And I touch my phone and look like I'm busy in my truck, even though I'm clearly not. I'm waiting at a light.

02:35:28 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 1:

How long was the entire encounter that you had?

02:35:31 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 3:

It felt like an eternity I honestly could not keep track of how long But it was just at that light, right? Yeah, it was just that light Thank God you weren't going I didn't implore it

02:35:43 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 1:

But I was literally two minutes from home That tells him right away That you don't want to talk to him

02:35:50 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 3:

That's probably why I didn't get a text

02:35:51 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 1:

When you beat him off the line Jordan, what's up?

02:35:55 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 5:

So I'm going to make a guess on this guy based on the car that he drives. Does he drive like a maniac?

02:36:02 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm the maniac driver.

02:36:04 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay, okay. Because every time I pull up to a charger and my wife's in the car, I'll be like, watch, this guy drives like an idiot. He goes, what are you talking about?

02:36:15 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 1:

No, he actually drove a little slow. Oh, okay, wow. Are you saying that most guys who drive chargers drive like maniacs?

02:36:25 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 5:

So, it's actually the ones, If you look on the back, that has a little B on the back of it. What does that mean?

02:36:33 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what is that?

02:36:33 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 5:

The more powerful one. The more powerful one. Ah, okay.

02:36:37 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 1:

So it's got more than a Hemi or something in it, I guess, huh?

02:36:40 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. 100% of the time. So my wife will be like, is that one going to be crazy? And I'm like, eh, maybe not. Is that one going to pull up?

02:36:52 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:36:52 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 5:

And I'll be like, that was going to be nuts. How do you do that?

02:36:57 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. I never knew that. I never knew that that was the case. It's interesting. I never knew about the B. I've seen the B. I've never noticed that those people are the people that drive kind of crazy, too.

02:37:07 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, a couple months ago. Chargers and challengers.

02:37:10 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's a red flag right there.

02:37:12 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 1:

And BMW what?

02:37:13 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 2:

BMW drivers don't use their turn signals.

02:37:16 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:37:17 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 3:

Neither do I.

02:37:18 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 2:

I feel like nobody uses their turn signals anymore. Nobody in Michigan uses their turn signals.

02:37:23 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 1:

It's because we're doing the Michigan U-turns. And we don't have to on those.

02:37:27 - 02:37:29 | Speaker 2:

Drives me nuts. What's going on?

02:37:29 - 02:37:30 | Speaker 1:

What's that?

02:37:30 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 2:

Because then I stick out like a sore thumb whenever I use my turn signals. Y'all make me a worse driver.

02:37:35 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 1:

We're supposed to use our turn signals. We just don't because we're idiots. But you'll never get me to say that again. Sarah?

02:37:42 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Can you hear me?

02:37:43 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What's happening?

02:37:44 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 6:

I was driving the other day. This guy rolls his window down. And he says, hey, how do you get to the Novi show place? And I was like, oh, you're going the right way. Just turn on the back. You're almost there. And he's like, thanks. He speeds off. And I thought, oh, my gosh. I just gave him the wrong direction. He did too. He just turned on a different street than Beck. So then I tried to, like, chase him down.

02:38:08 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 1:

And then you look crazy trying to chase him down, don't you?

02:38:12 - 02:38:13 | Unknown:

I felt so bad.

02:38:13 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 1:

That is actually kind of nice of you, though, to try to chase him down. Like, at least you try to make it nice. Yeah.

02:38:19 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 6:

That's funny. It wasn't meant to be.

02:38:21 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 1:

What would you do if you saw an ex that ended like KP's situation did and you saw him at a traffic light? Would you have pretended like you didn't hear him over the loud music that was playing?

02:38:34 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 6:

I might just give the middle finger like I'm scratching.

02:38:39 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

I've thought about this. There are certain exes that I would not have answered. I would have been like, ignore, ignore, but this guy was just too nice. What's up, Jake?

02:38:48 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 4:

okay so i know the traffic light thing yeah it may seem like forever but this honestly happened i think last week we were in stop and go traffic in grand rapid and we come up and you know we saw these friends that were you know friends of a friend we don't talk to them at all or anything so you know we wave say hi they roll down their windows and i'm like do we really roll down our windows we're gonna look like you know bad people if we don't so we rolled down our windows said hey you know had very very very awkward conversation and then we're just there for like 15 minutes like uh uh i was like honey i don't care if it takes longer i'm getting off the sex and i'm done yeah i only roll down the window for a drive-thru that's it yeah yeah yeah

02:39:31 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 1:

even on nice days mike weather days will you have your windows down or no you don't like to have

02:39:36 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 6:

your windows down not really not really because i love having my windows down see i don't like

02:39:40 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 1:

having my windows down that much and a lot of it is that i talk on my phone so much that you you can't talk on the phone when that happens but the other reason is i sing really loudly in my car if like a good song comes on and oh man me too i think i'm a great singer i want everyone to hear it yeah i don't know Listen, I'm not saying you're not a good singer, Jake But ask the people around you I will, I will We'll talk to you later I've had it happen before Where I've had people that pulled up next to me Not an ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend or anything like that But just people that would randomly pull up And they'll be like, you know, hey And they're like trying to talk and have a conversation I'm thinking, you can't have a conversation So what I do is I put my phone up and I go Yeah, like call me, call me, call me And then I quickly shut my phone off

02:40:28 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 3:

Mojo I don't even turn either way at a red light I have such red light anxiety I don't know why Yes, even if someone's honking I do not turn my head I could have a flat tire Pulling out of the radio station

02:40:44 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 1:

You're going down 12 mile road And you're oblivious to the fact that I'm like picking my nose next to you in the car

02:40:51 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 3:

You guys, I got totally Called out by a listener yesterday Someone texted in during middays was like, KV, I saw you out on the road yesterday. You drive like a maniac. And I'm like, shoot.

02:41:03 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember the time when you got busted, Shannon, for picking your nose?

02:41:06 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 3:

I sure do. And honestly, though, props to that listener because they even took a picture. Were you finger rolling? Oh, they did. She was like knuckle deep.

02:41:17 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was picking.

02:41:18 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 1:

She was in there, man. She was going for it. What's up, Courtney?

02:41:22 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning, Mojo. Hey, everyone. Good morning. Um, so this totally happened to me a month or so ago. Um, I was going out one night and lo and behold, my ex pulls up literally right next to me at the stoplight. I can see he got out of the corner of my eye, somebody like waving their arms trying to get my attention. I'm like, oh, heck no, it's the middle of the night. Crazy people. Like, I don't know anybody. So I finally like look over cause I kind of recognize the truck and I think it's my brother. I'm like, oh shoot. No, I look and it's my ex and I'm like, oh crap. Oh no. So he like flags me down. And he's like, hey, pull over. I'm like, no. Yeah. So we pull over and go into, like, a gas station. And we wind up talking for, like, an hour. And keep in mind, this, like, our breakup, it was messy. It was bad. Like, we hated each other for a long, long, long time. But we started, like, talking. And, like, honestly, secretly, he's been, like, texting me, like, every night since then. Because he has, like, a whole girlfriend and, like, five or six kids. Oh, no.

02:42:24 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 1:

Black, black, black. Oh, no, but wait a second. It sounds like you want this.

02:42:28 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, we've been friends since literally, like, high school, and, like, we're both in Oh, wait a second.

02:42:34 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 1:

This is like a movie. This is, you know, something that you would see on a Netflix movie.

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 3:

It's a terrible ending. Do not go back.

02:42:42 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 2:

That is the story of my life, I kid you not. And he's, like, been telling me, like, oh, my gosh, like, I'm so sorry. Like, I know it was messy. Like, I mean, you're the one that got away. And I'm like, oh, my dude, you got, like, five freaking kids. He's like, no, thank you.

02:42:55 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. Do you think he's telling you the truth, or do you think that he's also playing her, too?

02:43:00 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, I know it's the truth. And the girl, she remembers me because it's the same girl he's been with. She kind of knows, and she hates me. She hated me then, and she hates me even more now. She kind of knows. Oh, Courtney.

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Courtney, you got to call us back and give us an update on what happens, okay?

02:43:15 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

Totally will.

02:43:16 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. Man, oh, man. Speaking of that, update for you guys on War of the Roses for tomorrow. So you remember the Am I the A-hole from yesterday and the wife that called us up saying she read her husband's journal. He's in therapy because he cheated before and then she found out in his journal that she probably shouldn't have been reading, but she did, that he was currently cheating or possibly currently cheating. She's on War of the Roses with us tomorrow. We're going to find out for sure tomorrow morning, so make sure that you're listening. I don't think that was supposed to run. I had a Channel 955 on it. Uh-oh.

02:43:58 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 3:

104.5. Yeah.

02:44:00 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 1:

02:44:11 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:44:12 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

How do you guys have jingles still? That's like something that you have to have like a big budget for.

02:44:16 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Some people appreciate the jingles, man.

02:44:19 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys have jingles, Mike, on SNX? We do not, no. The AC station does. Yeah, we don't have jingles here either. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. So a couple of things. An Arctic fox and a green monkey.

02:46:11 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. A green monkey.

02:46:14 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 3:

Where do you get these animals from?

02:46:16 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 4:

He's like a vervet monkey. He's smaller. He's a brat.

02:46:24 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 2:

what makes a monkey green is it just how it was born or how it comes um just the color of them

02:46:34 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 3:

i guess is how they named them okay interesting forgive me for asking i really don't know is it legal to have this sort of monkey in an arctic fox as pets yes in michigan it is it is okay

02:46:47 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 4:

Some states it's illegal, but in Michigan, it's still legal here.

02:46:52 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 2:

I joked about trying to find pet food for these animals, but can you get food for this animal?

02:46:59 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

Yep. There's a few different companies that make monkey biscuits. You have to order them online.

02:47:06 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And where do these animals sleep? Does the fox snuggle up next to you in bed?

02:47:12 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 4:

No, he's more like an independent. animal he runs around does his own thing okay um the monkey he sleeps in bed with us he likes to

02:47:24 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Cheryl? Cheryl, are you there?

02:48:12 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 5:

Yep, I'm here.

02:48:13 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 2:

What is it that you have, Cheryl, as your pet?

02:48:15 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, a seven-and-a-half-foot red-tailed boa. Yeah, no.

02:48:21 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 2:

It's not yours, though, right? It's like your son's or your husband's or your brother's. What is it?

02:48:26 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 6:

No, it was my husband's, and when he passed away, obviously it became mine.

02:48:32 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 2:

That'd be the first thing that I would give away of my spouse if they died. I would be like you would like his clothes And his boa

02:48:39 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh no no no no You want this thing

02:48:43 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

It's your baby Is that what you said

02:48:46 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah it's a baby Does it have a name Yes her name is Emma

02:48:52 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 2:

Sorry Emma if you're listening

02:48:55 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh Emma's cute though I take her in the front yard Let her go through the grass

02:49:03 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 3:

I would have, like, if I was walking my dog past your house, it would eat my little dog.

02:49:09 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 6:

Right. Well, I live on a main highway. I live on Grosbeck Highway. Okay. And we've actually stopped traffic. People have pulled over just to look at her. I bet you have.

02:49:20 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 3:

I would. Oh, my gosh.

02:49:22 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 1:

I get mad when my neighbor's dog barks all the time. I wouldn't even say a word if I looked over there and there was a giant boa constrictor just squirming around in the grass.

02:49:31 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. She goes in the front yard, and then we have a wading pool in the backyard, but she goes in. So, yeah.

02:49:37 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Have you ever lost Emma?

02:49:40 - 02:49:40 | Unknown:

No.

02:49:41 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 2:

Not at all. So it's never been that you— She's huge. Yeah.

02:49:45 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 6:

She's really big. And we actually have two cats, and she's actually been out with us and with my daughter, and the cats have been around her bathing her. It's ridiculous.

02:50:00 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 1:

Why do I picture someday, and please don't take this the wrong way because I still want you to come on Friday because I think that's a great animal and that could win you $500. But why do I picture Fox 2's Jessica Dupnik doing a story from your house about the woman who was eaten by her boa?

02:50:14 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Not at all.

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 1:

It's never going to happen?

02:50:18 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 2:

No. She's got a lock secured enclosure. She doesn't get out unless we take her out. So, no.

02:50:26 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 1:

Cheryl, you're a sweet lady. Thank you for answering all our questions. We'll see you Friday, okay?

02:50:33 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay, thank you.

02:50:34 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Our mojo in the morning.

02:50:34 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 3:

If you oversleep, it's okay.

02:50:36 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 1:

You're going to be known as Misfit Snake Lady. No, no, you don't oversleep. You get here an hour earlier and meet Shannon in the parking lot. She thinks it's weird to have that skunk out in front of your car. I won't. I'll tell you what, you do that, and you may be the instant winner if you do that. Hold on one second.

02:50:54 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's top trending stories.

02:50:56 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 1:

All right. top trending stories listen to this story the next time that you go and try to get a wendy's double with cheese fries and a frosty you may be ordering through a ai chat bot wendy's has become the latest restaurant chain to debut a chat bot powered artificial intelligence drive-through on their

02:51:25 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 3:

orders. What does that mean? I've done it before.

02:51:27 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 1:

The company said that they're using the system as a way to help so that you can get your orders right. Sometimes the people that are working there get it wrong, don't understand what you're doing. There's miscommunication. You have done this before?

02:51:41 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 4:

I've definitely been to a McDonald's with one of these.

02:51:43 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, McDonald's said that they they've been toying with it, but they said they're not doing it.

02:51:47 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 4:

They might have tested it somewhere.

02:51:48 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Indoors they have the screen one, but I'm talking about like the... Yeah, I went up to the

02:51:53 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 4:

thing and it was like a robotic voice it kind of sounded like a woman um but it was like a little bit off you ever get like a robo call and you're like is this a person or is this a robot and then when i was ordering every time it was like and what else can we get for you and then i would say something and what else can we get and it was like the same tone the same cadence everything and i

02:52:12 - 02:52:26 | Speaker 1:

was like oh it's a robot that's i've never seen that before that's that's interesting um it says that 80% of its customers prefer to make an order this way. That's according to Wendy's. I don't know who they're talking to, but... No, I

02:52:26 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 4:

did. You like it better? You can't judge me from I'm getting at how much I'm changing.

02:52:30 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's true. You can order as much as you want. Uh-huh. Can I say something, though, with that? I've done it before where I've ordered and the person said to me, this is no joke, you're going to have all that?

02:52:45 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 4:

That's mean. But I do love it because when I get chicken nuggets, I always want different kinds of sauces. And like, I don't want just two of something. I want one of each. And I hate ordering that way because it makes me feel like a brat. But if I do it on the app, it's so easy.

02:52:59 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 1:

CKE Restaurants, which owns Hardee's and Carl's Jr. has announced that they're also doing this. McDonald's says they've been toying around with this idea since 2021. But that's interesting that Megan says it's in certain stores, that they actually do have it in certain stores. Here's a story for you that you can probably relate to. People tend to change their voice when they're talking to a voice assistant app like Alexa and Siri. When speaking to one of these devices, people often are louder, flatter, or slower compared to how they would talk to anybody else. This is findings from new technology That actually could hear the human speech And then could hear them talk To just like another friend

02:53:45 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 3:

For sure

02:53:45 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 1:

So if you're doing one of those drive-thrus For sure Double quarter pounder with cheese Next time that you have a story That has a spoiler to it Don't say spoiler alert Because a psychology study suggests That people still enjoy the shows Even if they know the ending You know how everybody gets all bent out of shape? And the funny thing is, they get bent out of shape over the dumbest stuff.

02:54:10 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, this is how I was with The Bachelor. I always knew who won, and I still watch the whole season.

02:54:16 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 1:

They say that researchers found that if you know the ending to one of your favorite shows, you will actually watch that show with more enjoyment knowing what the ending is than you would if you didn't know the ending because you're looking for certain things.

02:54:31 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 3:

So Vanderpump Rules is a great example. I never got on the Vanderpump Rules bandwagon. I watched, you know, The Real Housewives and everything. But now that there's this scandal, I want to go back and watch Vanderpump Rules. I think I have to start with season five, somebody told me, to see how Tom and Raquel interact with each other. Yeah. Right? That's good. But you know what the ending's going to be.

02:54:52 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

And the last story is interesting because I've never watched this, but Zach says that he's a fan of this show. There's a...

02:55:00 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 8:

online show called Cart and Arcs. They're based out of California and Cart and Arcs nearly came to blows with a woman who was confronted about not returning her shopping cart to the little carousel area that they have the corral area and the Cart and Arcs guy almost got hit by the woman

02:55:21 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh ma'am that's not where the carts go this is not between the spots here let's take your cards back to the man I'm with the cart narcs what we do is we narc out people are being big old lazy bones not taking their cards back well yeah that's how we can shame other you show other people man you can't take well let's not get to pass the point the point is you didn't take your card back why am I doing

02:55:52 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 6:

that why am i why am i that's great but why am i doing that ma'am because you're because you're

02:56:01 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 5:

lazy bones and you think you're better than everybody can't get your cart back that's right

02:56:05 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 6:
