00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Let's get this show started. Here we go. Welcome to the mojo.

00:10:00 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo. Mojo in the morning show. Friday's on Mojo. Mojo in the morning show. Happy Mother's Day. Mojo in the morning show. Good morning. Happy almost weekend. Unless you're working this weekend. I know you're excited for it. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. Happy Mother's Day to you, Shannon. Thank you. And to, of course, the extended moms in our lives, our moms, mom figures, our wives who are moms, the people who are just mother effers and cause us problems. Happy Mother's Day to you. We do celebrate you on that. Yesterday was just a complete spit show for me. Let me tell you. So remember yesterday how I was wearing, it's actually funny, I was wearing cockies. I actually bought these pants at the mall the other day when I was telling you. I went into the dressing room, and the dressing room was right next to the door. Remember I was talking about that?

00:11:07 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:11:07 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, I bought the pants that I was wearing yesterday, which were khaki pants, and the girl that was working at the store had an accent. She had a little bit of a thick accent, and she goes, how do you like your cockies? And she said it like that. Oh, I wouldn't feel too serious. And I said, I love my cockies. And these are jeans But you know how they make certain jeans That are like really cottony

00:11:29 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah they're like soft

00:11:29 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 2:

And she goes They are the softest cockies I've ever felt

00:11:33 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 1:

How did you not just die

00:11:35 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

I was I was inside just dying the whole time Well I had my cockies on Along with a dress shirt And I had a meeting yesterday At University of Michigan At the University of Michigan Hospital Michigan Medicine And I drove Yeah I had to leave the studios Early After we got done taping all of our crap, but I had to leave. I had to get there by 11.50. The meeting started at noon, and I was told, A, the reason I was wearing the cockies was they told me, Ryan, the guy that's from the Heart Hospital person, for those that don't know this, I am on the board of directors for the Heart Hospital. That's so fancy. I get my own parking spot. Do you really? No, I have LA. But so we have meetings. But he told me, he goes, you can't wear jeans like you do all the time. You got to like kind of like a little bit more dressed up. So that's why I was wearing them. I showed up at 1150. I was right on time. I walk in and usually there's people like all standing there in the lobby waiting. And we're all going to go like all of us that are part of this thing. And I'm standing there in the lobby going, there's nobody here. And the only person that was there is the lady that asks you if you have a fever or if you ever had COVID in the last while. you know a while and then patients coming in like this seems unusual so then I go towards where the meeting rooms are and I open up the door of the meeting room it's pitch black there's nothing going on there I'm like this is strange because I know it was 11 50 get there before noon yeah like this is wild so I'm gonna go look up and see if I can get Ryan you know to figure out what's going on I go to look at Ryan's number and as I go into my phone to go look at that his email comes up reminding us about the meeting on may 18th no yes i was a week early for my meeting has that ever happened to anyone i'm never early for anything i was a week early for this meeting were you mad or were you like now i get to go home and take a nap well this is the the best part about the whole thing i haven't had the last month or so i've been like feeling like i don't get out of here until really, really late. And so I feel like I have no time for anything else. And I was like, so excited about it. I was like, I can't believe it. This is great. Even though I had to drive, you know, almost, you know, 50 minutes or something like that out to Ann Arbor and then drive back. But here's the, Oh, here's the part that was interesting. So I left like after looking at that, I left the meeting room and I start walking out. Cause remember I valley parked my car. The valleys were so backed up. The guy was just getting in my car to go pull it in there and i walk outside and i go hold on a second you don't have to put it in the uh the parking garage and so i gave him some money you know to say thank you for the uh at least keeping it there for me for like the last 20 minutes or so but um have you guys ever had that happen have you guys ever been like a date wrong or gone to an event like have you ever had

00:14:33 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 2:

anything where you thought oh this is the weekend that i got that wedding and wasn't that wedding Lydia you look like you guys

00:14:38 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I showed up a week early before one of my cousin's Birthday parties like I showed up on her doorstep Really? Not at the doorstep My cousin's like Yeah Lydia like what's up I'm like oh it's the birthday party She's like no that's next week

00:14:52 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Did you not notice that there was like no cars

00:14:54 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

That were there? I mean I didn't see any cars But I just thought I was the first to come You know us Chaldeans are always late anyway

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm sure you looked stunning too I hope you went out afterwards And didn't waste your good hair and makeup

00:15:05 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

I went out with my boyfriend at the time So it worked out anyway

00:15:08 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh my god

00:15:11 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 4:

What if it was a surprise party and you ruined it

00:15:13 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god, good to imagine

00:15:14 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 6:

The worst for somebody like me And I think most of us are like this I'm kind of going through Are all of us late people or no

00:15:23 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:

Yes

00:15:24 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 6:

Mike's kind of on time at times, right Mike? Maybe, no

00:15:29 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 5:

I like to be really super early. Not a week early.

00:15:32 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 6:

You are an early person.

00:15:33 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 5:

But I do like to be early.

00:15:34 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so you never show up at late. I mean, I do.

00:15:37 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 5:

It happens. But I strive to be somewhere early. She has kids. She shows up late. Everybody with kids shows up late every once in a while. Yes, you are right about that.

00:15:46 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 6:

But to be like that early is like really, really early.

00:15:50 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 5:

Like, I'll give you this example. My family, my sisters, my mom will tell you they hate going places with me because we have to be the first people there. Like, you know, if it's church or Lucy's school play or something, I like to be in the front row so I get there astronomically, like, early when nobody else is there and they're like, really, Shannon? And I'll usually tell them that it starts earlier just so that we're all there earlier, you know, so that it's...

00:16:20 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Chelsea has to do that with me because I never show up to anything early except for radio stuff sometimes. Yeah.

00:16:25 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 4:

Why is it for radio stuff I could be on time, but everything else I'm an hour late?

00:16:28 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 6:

It's on-air shifts. We know that we have to take over at 6 o'clock, right?

00:16:32 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:16:33 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 6:

So we got to get here. The other thing with, like, getting there early and then doing that whole thing of sitting in the front row, I feel like if you go – I can't go to the front row, like, at church or something like that. I have to go, like, three rows back because I don't want anybody to know that I'm the person that got there that early. Wow, he must have gotten there pretty early. Alicia, what's going on?

00:16:54 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I bought tickets for California. We were going on vacation, my boyfriend and I, and we showed up to the airport, and we were trying to check in, and it kept telling us, too early, too early, and we're like, what? We're like, late, if anything. And finally, I realized on the date, it's for a week later. Oh, my God.

00:17:15 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 5:

So did you realize, or did you try to go through TSA, and they said something to you?

00:17:19 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 3:

No, I realized it. like was I kept trying to check in and it kept saying early early and then I like look at the

00:17:24 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 6:

ticket I'm like oh my gosh did that cause a problem for you because of taking time off and

00:17:29 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 3:

things yeah we had both taken time off work like the whole thing so we literally had to buy tickets right then and there at the airport so we could leave did any of those tickets that you already had work towards money that you could use we did end up so we used our tickets that we were supposed to fly there for to fly home good oh okay oh that's good and then yeah i think they did give us like some credit or something for our tickets that we didn't use and it never ended up could

00:17:58 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 6:

you imagine if you had to go home and couldn't have your vacation that would have like really

00:18:02 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 2:

stunk uh what's going on how you doing stephanie good morning how are you guys we're good what's up oh i just i texted in to say that i showed up a week early for a funeral oh geez wait how did you know that they died so my my good friend's um father passed away and he was being buried at the military cemetery and um so we my husband and i made our way out and um i got there and i thought we were late because there were like no cars in the um in the parking lot yeah and i thought oh my gosh the procession like already left we're late i get in and they were like what are you here for and i'm like i'm here for a funeral it turned out it was the next week and my poor husband like took the day off to be there and he was like babe i'm not doing this again you're flying so

00:18:59 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 6:

oh my god well that's you know you're paying your respects double the respects uh misfit steve what's going on buddy i haven't talked to you in a while oh we talk all the time good morning

00:19:10 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 1:

I didn't talk to y'all in the morning.

00:19:12 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 6:

You did? How come I didn't call you Misfit Steve? They didn't tell us that it was you.

00:19:16 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, because you said let the kids call in, so we're going to let the kids talk.

00:19:20 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, the kids talked. Okay, all right. Yeah. What's going on?

00:19:24 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 1:

So I was wondering why y'all are always running on CP time. I didn't know how to write it any different, but it's like black people time when they always running late and stuff.

00:19:34 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 6:

Even white people run on CP time, right?

00:19:38 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Oh, my God, I can't stand it, man. I like to be on time for stuff because I like to be there, and I don't have to wait on nobody. But when I have to wait, it's like, man, come on. Now we can't even go have a reservation because we got to wait for everybody to be there.

00:19:54 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 6:

Misfit Steve, you lost your credibility if you're an on-time black man, right?

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 4:

Right, right, exactly.

00:20:02 - 00:20:06 | Speaker 5:

Have a great day, buddy. We'll see you. Have a great weekend. How smart are you?

00:20:07 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. We have to go back and change. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:20:13 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 5:

All right, time now for the Back in the Day. This was the year that Adele released her album, 30.

00:20:19 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 2:

I definitely did lose my connection with my own music and with how it made me feel and stuff like that. But it came back to me on this album because I needed it so badly.

00:20:28 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 5:

Ellen announced that her show was coming to an end.

00:20:31 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 1:

Today, I am announcing that next season, season 19, is going to be my last season.

00:20:36 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 5:

And the big song from Doja Cat in The Weeknd. We'll be back with the Dirty, your guesses, and then Taylor Swift tickets next.

00:20:49 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 4:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. At 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:00 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:01 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 4:

Testing your memory this early in the morning. This is Mojo's Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:21:08 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 5:

All happened in the same year. What year was it for the Back in the Day Prize? Adele released 30.

00:21:14 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 2:

But I definitely did lose my connection with my own music and, you know, with how it made me feel and stuff like that. But it came back to me on this album.

00:21:22 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 5:

And the year that Ellen announced that she was leaving after her next season.

00:21:28 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 1:

Today, I am announcing that next season, season 19, is going to be my last season.

00:21:51 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 2:

Cool. Oh, thank you so much.

00:21:53 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 5:

I can hear it. You can hear that? It's mine, too, though.

00:22:12 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Hey. It's mine. Be careful. That sounded very dirty for a second. Have a great weekend, Melinda.

00:22:21 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

You guys, too. Thank you so much.

00:22:22 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 5:

00:22:43 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:22:46 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 5:

It's an interesting time for Taylor Swift right now.

00:22:48 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 3:

Taylor, it is official. Taylor Swift and Maddie Healy from the 1975 were holding hands and kissing last night at Casa Cipriani in New York City where they were sitting right next to each other in the lounge. And I love this. A Swifty's dad just so happened to be sitting next to them and recorded the whole thing on his iPhone. So if you see the video or the photos of Maddie and Taylor together, it's from a dad's iPhone. He was like, I know that girl. I know this story. He said neither of them ordered any food. They were just sitting there. She had a glass of wine. They were cuddling and kissing. Nonetheless, they were not completely on their own. Taylor's buddy Jack Antonoff was sitting with them. They had security all around them. But they left holding hands while being covered by an umbrella. It was an attempt to not be seen, but it didn't work. I imagine a dad recording it.

00:23:44 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 5:

Halfway through it, he records himself.

00:23:46 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 3:

But he doesn't realize he's recording himself. Like his fingers, you know, in part of the screen. American Idol fans are campaigning on social media to permanently give Katy Perry the boot as a judge after she was temporarily replaced this week by Alanis Morissette to mentor the show's top eight. People have not been loving Katy on that show this season at all. I don't think any season they've loved her. Really, especially this season, though. I mean, they're very vocal about it. So Alanis filled in for Katie while she and her fellow judge, Lionel Ritchie, performed at that coronation concert for Prince, or not Prince Charles, King Charles III. Remember, Lionel Ritchie was replaced by Ed Theron. But fans are saying Alanis' critiques were unselfishly intended to actually benefit the contestants and that Katie and Lionel could learn a lot from her. And they want Alanis on that show permanently.

00:24:36 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You know what? I feel like the judges on that show haven't been good since we didn't even know who the judges were. Yeah, since Simon and Randy and Paula back in the day, you know? Not to be that guy that's like, I don't like the change and stuff like that.

00:24:52 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 3:

Remember when it was Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkelman hosting the show? Hosting, yeah.

00:24:57 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Here's the problem. People who...

00:25:00 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 3:

are in the music industry obviously are the best to know this, but Simon could get away with the stuff that he said because nobody knew, he didn't have an image at that point of anything other than being the music executive guy. And so I think when Katie's trying to give a critique, people get very upset by it and they think she's just mean. Meadow

00:25:17 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 2:

Walker going to be appearing in Fast X, the latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise that her dad, Paul Walker, started until his tragic death in 2013. She revealed her upcoming cameo on Instagram alongside had a photo of her in front of a camera monitor on the set and the caption was this. The first fast was released when I was one year old. I can't believe now I get to be up there too. I'm so blessed to be able to honor my father's legacy and share this with him forever. The new movie includes her dad's longtime co-stars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson. Priyanka Chopra Jonas. This is a great story. So obviously she's married to Nick Jonas. She was doing an interview yesterday and she recalled winning the Miss World pageant in the year 2000 and said her future husband, who, by the way, is a decade younger than her, was actually watching that moment on TV that night. When I was 18, I just turned 18.

00:26:16 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 1:

I won the Miss World pageant. But apparently my mother-in-law was like, I remember watching you when you won. And I was like, there's no way. And she said, I remember this clearly because and Nick came and sat down and watched you win, which is unfathomable. Like, that was 22 years ago or something. He was seven, I was 17. He was seven? And he was sitting there and he was watching. Isn't that, it's just, it was so weird.

00:26:40 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 2:

That's so crazy. She said she believes she and Nick were destined to be together.

00:26:45 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 1:

I do believe that people are meant to be with each other for whatever that duration in your life is supposed to be. And I think that people collide because you're supposed to create on this small, short life that you have memories that you will take forward. And I think that Nick and I had through our lives like these weird, enchanted little moments. But it's lovely now to have found your person.

00:27:11 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, I've got an update on a story we talked about in The Dirty. Yesterday, a Florida jury has found McDonald's and one of its franchise owners not negligent, but liable for the burn suffered by that four-year-old little girl who ate a dangerously hot chicken McNugget. The lawsuit claimed the child was eating a Happy Meal in the backseat of a car when a nugget got stuck in her car seat and burned her leg pretty badly. The jury began deliberations Wednesday night. They issued a split verdict yesterday. Jurors saying the restaurant should be held liable for failing to put warnings on the food that caused the child's burns, but it was not negligent little girl's mom and dad pleased with the verdict and feeling hopeful that it will lead to change in how packages are marked another trial will determine how much mcdonald's will have to pay in the images for all of today's dirty check out the dirty page on those in the morning.com miss something in the dirty on the 30 listen on our podcast now at mojo in the morning.com it's time for more mojo back to mojo in the morning

00:28:16 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning so we call it naughty mom's night out and the funny thing is there are so many people that in the beginning when we started talking about naughty mom's night out they were like well i'm not really that naughty but can i still come and i'm like wait a second naughty is not what you think naughty is naughty is not always something sexual right am

00:28:47 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 2:

00:28:51 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 3:

naughty mom stories. Tell us about that moment when you feel like you probably should have gotten

00:29:18 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 3:

a timeout for your behavior. And it's stories of things that you've done while you've been a mom. I think that's the best. Yes. Yeah. Because when you're a mom, like when you become a mom, and I don't know if there's something to this, you'll have to explain this. When you become a Mom, you think that you become a little bit more adult, you know? You think that you become more responsible because you've growthed the baby inside of you.

00:29:42 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 2:

You've growthed? You've growthed? Yeah. Okay.

00:29:46 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 3:

You know, yeah.

00:29:47 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Look at the books. I'm telling you. Yes. I growthed two babies inside of me, Megan. And to be fair, he's had like six really big words this week. I know. Come on. Thank you. Yes. I know. Yes. 845

00:33:39 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

00:36:15 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 3:

My daughter was two years old and she was watching the Wiggles in the living room. She fell asleep on the floor and I decided to sneak away for a second for some mommy time with my Hitachi. But she woke up. She woke up, and she, like, tried to pull herself up on the table, and she injured, like, the table toppled over on her head. Oh, no. Like, I had to take her to the hospital, because I'm like, Jesus. She, like, knocked her to the hospital, because she was tiny. So I was like, oh, God. So I was like, what happened? I'm like, oh, wow. Did you have to make up a story? Yeah.

00:36:50 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's right. By the way, when you said you tried to get some mommy time with your, what did you call it?

00:36:56 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Hitachi. It's something every woman needs.

00:36:58 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 1:

A Hitachi. It's hard to Googling that right now.

00:37:00 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 3:

Of course, the guys are Googling that.

00:37:02 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm afraid to Google it, though. I'm afraid what will come up.

00:37:05 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 3:

I mean, seriously, it looks like a power tool, and it's kind of like off-putting.

00:37:10 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 1:

This giant construction digger machine popped up. I don't think that's it. No, it's called the Hitachi Magic Wand. Yeah, it's a magic wand. Wow. Okay, hold on one second. Hold on. We said it didn't have to be sexual, but, man, we got that one. What's up, Bailey? Are you there?

00:37:29 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm here.

00:37:30 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Bailey. We're talking about the naughty mom stories.

00:37:33 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes. When my son was about three years old, I was cooking dinner, and I made a little raw ground beef shaker and made him think that I had cut it off. And I was cooking dinner.

00:37:49 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 5:

00:39:06 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 5:

really embarrassing because i i have no confidence when it comes to being out in public and this really just destroyed any little bit of confidence I had left because even when I walk out, I go, nope, it'll bite me in the butt eventually. I was out shopping actually for Naughty Moms Night Out tonight because I'm a little bit nervous about what I'm going to wear and I had this jacket on and I didn't realize because it was the first time I had ever worn this jacket that the tags were still on it because they always put jacket tags in the underarm. Armpit. It's always in the armpit. I'm never going to see it And, like, by the time I need to try it on before I take the tags off, and then once I put it on, I forget that it's there, and then I walk away, and now I'm out in public, and it looks like I've stolen a jacket. So, I'm shopping, and I'm at the mall, and I start getting followed around this store, and I'm...

00:40:00 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 1:

A little like, okay, I don't think I'm acting suspicious. I don't really have anything in my hands. I haven't gone back to the dressing room yet. I don't know what's going on. But maybe they're just being extra helpful. And then as I'm starting to get a few extra things in my arms, I'm looking for a dressing room. And then I notice that they're really starting to follow me around. And I asked for a room. And they said, yeah, let's count all your items, though, or whatever. You know how they do that sometimes? They're like, you can only take X and R things in. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I didn't know what was going on, and then somebody had pointed out, I have a tag on my jacket. They thought I was stealing from the store that I was walking around in, and I was just an idiot who forgot to take the tags off of my jacket.

00:40:43 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 5:

And was that jacket from that store?

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

No, it wasn't even from ... A little part of me was like, hey, dummies, look around. You don't even sell anything like this.

00:40:51 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 5:

Has that ever happened to any listeners where you felt like you were being accused of theft? Is that why they count? I always wondered that when you go into ... Yeah.

00:40:59 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 2:

They don't want you to stuff it in your purse or your other shopping bag.

00:41:02 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 5:

Like I've gone into Lululemon and I've brought a couple of things to go try on in the dressing room. And they'll do that and then they put a number on the door with like your names on there. Yes. Yeah. Interesting.

00:41:16 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 2:

They do it because of a girl that I knew in college. Her name was Amy and she had this thing. She loved stealing. And she would go in. She did. Really? And she would, and always from Express, she would go into a dressing room and she would put on whatever it was under her normal clothes and then walk out.

00:41:36 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

00:41:36 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

So it looked, you know what I mean? Like, it didn't even look like she was carrying anything. She was like a klepto. She did it all the time.

00:41:42 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 5:

My sister was a manager, like a regional manager for Lane Bryant stores.

00:41:47 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:41:47 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 5:

And she said that the theft was wild of what they would catch women doing as far as hiding the merchandise. Strollers especially is a big one. Well, in their body, too. Like, they would actually...

00:41:58 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

00:41:58 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And they would find out later because they had those sensor tags and stuff. But they would want it so bad that they would, like, hide it in their pants and things like

00:42:09 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 1:

that. You want to talk about impressive theft. I saw a woman in, like, an ankle-length skirt, kind of like a big prairie skirt, stand over a case of beer, squat down, grab it with her thighs, and just walk out. Stop it. You couldn't even tell. Stop it. You couldn't even tell.

00:42:22 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I've got a single guy friend and she's single.

00:42:25 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 2:

You deserve it if you can do that.

00:42:27 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 5:

I know somebody exactly that would be perfect for you. Tim, you were accused of stealing before? Tim?

00:42:36 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, we're at, can you hear me? Yeah, there you are, hi. Hi, so my wife and I, when my daughter was really little, we went to Walmart in Hillsdale, and she was really tired. She didn't get her nap, so we laid her in the car. We took a blanket off the shelf and laid it in the bottom of the car. We took the tag off because we were going to pay for it. And the lady ripped the blanket out from underneath of her while she was sleeping and accused us of stealing. So everything that we had left in the other cart, we just pushed it off to the side. And my wife is a very calm person. And this lady at the Walmart store, everything in the book but a white woman.

00:43:15 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I can't believe that with the baby in there that she would reach in there and do that.

00:43:22 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 3:

And I always thought that there's one and a half, maybe two.

00:43:25 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 5:

I always thought that their theft prevention was that, you know, they weren't going to do anything or accuse you of anything until you actually left the store. And then a lot of cases, they just let you go.

00:43:34 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's kind of the rule.

00:43:35 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm convinced they have a button and they're watching you. And then if they think you're stealing, they will push that button and an alarm will go off. It will alert. Well, I was at H&M a couple of days ago shopping for the same thing and for a shirt or whatever. And I bought the shirt, purchased it. There was no like, you know, that that metal piece or that tag that Megan was talking about. There was none of that to take off. So they scan it. I buy. I put it in my bag as I'm walking out. I'm like, you know what? I don't think this size is going to fit. So I go back to the cashier and I'm like, can I just switch it out for a medium really quick? She's like, yeah, go ahead. No big deal. I'm like, do you need to take anything off or scan it or whatever? She's like, no, no, just switch it out. So I go switch it out, and another employee is watching me do this, and she thinks that I'm stealing. So I switch out the shirts. I go to walk out, and the alarm goes off. Now, again, there's no tag. There's nothing. So I go back to the cashier. She's like, huh, I have no idea why this went off. You should be all set. And she does nothing, and I walk out again, and the alarm doesn't go off. Shut up. Interesting. I'm convinced they have a button, or if they think you're stealing, they'll immediately hit that button. It'll just go off. Yeah. Sean, what's up?

00:44:40 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, my dude? How are you all today?

00:44:42 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 5:

We're good. We're talking about how Megan was accused of shoplifting.

00:44:46 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I understand. I've actually been in the store looking for shoes, you know, and I'm walking back and forth because I'm looking at several different pairs of shoes and everything else, and I noticed security walking down back and forth.

00:45:00 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 1:

down another aisle but constantly looking over at me so because i got offended by it you know i'm still just looking for shoes i'll call them out and hold them out right you know um you're following the wrong person i'm not over here stealing anything have more money to pay for the shoes

00:45:16 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

go buy with somebody else wow that's uh wow megan what's going on not you megan but listener megan What's happening?

00:45:25 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. I just was calling to comment that I was dating this guy who works security at a local Target. And his job was basically to sit in the back room and watch all the security cameras, like the dressing rooms, the hallways, everywhere. And he said that if someone was stealing, he could literally go up to them and handcuff them while they waited for the cops.

00:45:43 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 5:

You're kidding.

00:45:44 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

How is that not, like, kidnapping?

00:45:47 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

Well.

00:45:49 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. He said that he would, he had to do it once and he would handcuff them and then take them to the front.

00:45:54 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm always amazed that they could do stuff like that, and then I watch these videos from these big cities like New York and Chicago where these kids and stuff go into Walgreens, and they just ravage the place, and they let them go. And there's, like, security is, like, watching them.

00:46:06 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 4:

It's like a flash mob of insight to it.

00:46:07 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

I understand, but it's, like, you think it's, like, wild to think that, like, the average person gets, like, accused of stealing, but then these people are stealing, and they don't get even stopped. What's up, Gabby?

00:46:19 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

00:46:20 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:46:22 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 5:

I was accused once at Meijer for stealing a box of diapers.

00:46:26 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 3:

How did they think you did it? Like, why you?

00:46:29 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, I went to the self-checkout, and obviously I bought them, but I went to walk out, and their beeper just started beeping. So they pulled me aside, and they were checking my receipt and checking my cart, and all of a sudden they're like, oh, you have diapers. Diapers have a big security barcode on them, and you have to go to an actual person to check them out because they have to remove the barcode.

00:46:53 - 00:47:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. See? I'm telling you, somebody is watching that, and they're like, all right, I'm going to push this button. I'm going to accuse them of stealing because we think they stole, but there's no actual proof.

00:47:03 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 2:

But in some places, though, in areas where they have high theft of it, sometimes they do put tags on things. In diapers, though? Oh, absolutely. But no, on the boxes, like the big boxes. Oh, really? Yeah, baby stuff might be like a high theft thing. Like formula was one of those ones where a lot of people were, you know.

00:47:20 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 5:

It always kills me when, like, hygiene products are locked up. Like, if somebody's stealing those, they need those.

00:47:31 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show, Home of the War of the Roses, the throwback, throwdown, second date, update, five lives to tell your mom, and, of course, the dirty on the 30. Shannon's got that coming up. so whenever you have somebody new starting at your work my favorite thing is nobody ever just goes up and introduces themselves and starts talking to them before they go around and talk about them like that's always the thing that ends up happening in any office it could be a new guy or girl that starts in the office everybody always goes oh so what's the story with this person oh who's that person whatever it's never like hey how you doing you seem like you're new here let me introduce myself to you um but mike's got somebody new in his office and now this new person is going to be that person that you'll always remember after this particular thing yeah to be

00:48:28 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

fair i took uh this guy out to lunch so i can talk uh about him now so it's okay oh you did you pay for it yeah oh good so now i'm gonna now i'm gonna talk about him all right on the radio did you do it for that purpose no no no no okay good i just did it because he was he was new and he was very excited about the business, so I introduced myself. That being said, he handles stressful situations different than anybody else that I've ever seen working in this building for as long as I have. Like, I'm not saying the way I do it's right either. I'm an overreactor. If something bad happens, I will overcorrect. I will over try to fix the problem instead of just fixing it. Now, sometimes it works, and sometimes it's just even a bigger mess. But one of the water bottle, what is it called, water coolers here broke. And it's like one of those big ones that plug into the wall. And it broke like mid-show. And he works for a different show here in the building. And it's spewing water everywhere like a volcano. It's going all over electrical stuff. It's bad. It's really, really bad. Like puddles in the carpet, giant, giant puddles in the carpet. And I walk around to grab some water. and he's looking at it looks up at me and then walks back to his studio and just sits there again this is doesn't do anything about the water does nothing not a thing at all and i'm like he's clearly freaking out right now because he's i mean there's paper towel right there he could have taken the paper towel put it down on it and while that's not going to soak everything up it It does something.

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? You're attempting to fix the situation. He did nothing to the point where when his shift was done, again, it's water all over this electrical stuff. He just left for the day. He just went home. I don't know if he told anybody or what could have even been done.

00:50:15 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 1:

And for those that don't know about electrical and water, it's not the greatest thing for what you have. If we ever have, and I've had this happen to me, I'll spill my water or I'll spill a coffee or something, and it gets anywhere near the control board. It's panic time, right?

00:50:38 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes.

00:50:38 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 3:

We all come running.

00:50:40 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever spilled a drink next to your board right there and went, oh, my God.

00:50:44 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 1:

More Mojo podcast, right before the More Mojo podcast. It's freaking out because, I mean, God knows that we probably don't have any replacements for any of the stuff that we have in here. but uh yeah it's not very good so did you ever verbally say anything to him or did you just let this go and then just let him go home that day and do whatever he was doing so i was so fascinated

00:51:07 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 2:

by the his reaction to it which was again nothing not nothing at all that i wanted to just kind of see how it played out because i mean this isn't like a radio thing if it was like hey i spilled something on the board what do i do can you help me but i would have helped him because he's new to the business and this is like like you there's a spill my toddlers do this all the time there's a spill on the floor what do we do when there's a spill on the floor we put some towels on it we

00:51:30 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 1:

clean it up it's no big deal yeah you know it's funny everybody my my wife if she's listening to this is thinking that that guy is either me or one of my three sons because anytime there's something that's on the ground or on the floor or you know on a countertop spill like we don't do it And she goes, you guys walked by this thing. So Chelsea has gotten into the point now where she will leave it like that.

00:51:55 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 3:

Good for her.

00:51:56 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 1:

And she'll leave it like that. And then what she does is you should do this, Mike, with the water. Take items that are his, like Chelsea has done with items that are ours, and put them in the mess that's there. So all of a sudden you look and you're like, why is my shirt in the middle of dog food that's on the floor or something?

00:52:16 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 2:

It's so great. That is really smart.

00:52:19 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 1:

He's got a chair he sits in every day. I'm just going to move his chair. Put his chair right in the middle of the puddle. Although, do you think he would be oblivious to it, that he would just go grab his chair and move his chair back?

00:52:32 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. He's one of those guys, and he's a good dude, but he's so nervous about everything right now that I think he would just leave it there and work from there because he thinks it's what this is how I'm supposed to do it.

00:52:44 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 4:

It's probably, Mike, because I think I know who you're talking about. And I'm wondering if he didn't want to be caught cleaning it up for fear that everybody else would think that he was the one that caused it.

00:52:56 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 2:

Being the new guy.

00:52:58 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 4:

You know, he didn't want to be blamed for it.

00:53:00 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 2:

But I think he did cause it. That's okay. Spills happen, and that's okay. We just got to clean it up when we're done.

00:53:07 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 1:

I see nothing. I know nothing. Can I tell you that the thing that drives me crazy, and I'm going to add a couple here to the people in the office, The person who goes to the restroom, does this happen in the women's restroom? They go to the restroom, all right? They do their duties, and then you go into the restroom after them, and you don't even see them leaving, whatever. You just go in, and the bathroom has the streak marks all over the toilet.

00:53:38 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 3:

This just happened in the girl's bathroom here. Stall number one. People don't flush their poops for some reason.

00:53:44 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm not talking, the poop was, or the thing was already flushed.

00:53:48 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 3:

But they left remnants?

00:53:49 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

But there was marks that were all there. Like, I'm a person, after I flush, I look to make sure everything is flushed down because of us as a show. Yes. Because we talk about it, and I know that other people talk about it, too. Yeah. So these people don't obviously look at the flushing that happens. But then these are also the same people that I swear to you, and kind of like maybe this particular person that Mike's talking about. I have gone into our office, so it's one of all you people, because usually we're not allowing people in there unless it's maybe Rhonda, who used to steal from Reese all the time. But you guys, somebody will leave the door open to the refrigerator, and I feel like I have to call your mothers and have your mother say, did you leave the door open? Were you born in a barn? My mom used to always say. But it always, it always ends up having, and I sit there and I think to myself, I'm like, I get, you know, you kind of go with your thing, but then I've, I've had this happen and I'm not going to say who it was, but there's one person particularly in this office area here, not in the studio with us right now. So it's not you, Shannon, because.

00:55:00 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 4:

Right now, it's you and I alone in our Detroit studio, but somebody outside of the studio that has gone into the office. I've seen them leave the office, and they walked out and did not close the refrigerator even though they weren't the ones that left it open because I said, hey, did somebody leave the refrigerator door open? And that particular person goes, yeah, I saw it open. I don't know who that was. And I'm going, wait a second, you saw it open, but yet you still didn't close it. You know what I mean? It's kind of like the mic situation here. It's like, you saw this there. Why would you not do something about it? Why would you not? And if you get caught doing that, like, because everybody does embarrassing things that they don't mean to do, just own it. Just own it. You did it. It's okay. You don't have to deny it. Just own it. I mean, honestly, nobody's going to ever judge you except for at, what time is it right now? 7.31. Hi, Chelsea. It's Mojo in the morning.

00:55:57 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 3:

show what's going on good morning mojo good morning uh just calling to kind of comment on this whole story about people not cleaning after themselves in the toilet we had the same situation at our workplace and it came down to a point where we actually put up a sign with peppy lepew on it that says please make sure you clean the toilet and spray when you when you're done to be courteous to your employees and what a difference that made the next week everybody clean the toilet that's what we need the fact that you even had to do that right yeah oh it's pathetic and it's it's disgusting i don't want to look at your poop when i go in there you know what's i'm amazed by

00:56:39 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 4:

i'm amazed that there are people that are here that do this knowing that we have clients in all day recording commercials you know we have uh promotional like people that we do stuff with you know there's like people from the live nation the people that give us our concert tickets like coming to visit and have meetings with our big boss could you imagine dave clark from live nation having to go check out you know somebody's streak marks in the bathroom i can't because it happens he's not going to be he's he's not going to give us as many taylor swift tickets it's going to be

00:57:13 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 3:

a very bad day? Exactly. I don't want to see it or smell

00:57:15 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 4:

it. Exactly. Thank you. Jen, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:57:20 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Morning, Mojo. Love you guys. We love you, too. We love you, too. I listen to you every day on the way to work and I have to be there at 8 and I get so mad I have to, like, shut it off and watch the podcast later because I can't hear the whole show.

00:57:32 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 4:

Thank God, by the way, that we have that podcast for that reason, but thank you for saying that. That's very kind of you. What's going on?

00:57:39 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 3:

So, my daughters are 16 and 13 and I don't get off work till 5 and they get home from school around 3 if they spill anything they will take toilet paper, paper towels or newspaper and just cover it up and then when I get home they'll be like, hey mom, can you get that?

00:57:59 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 4:

That's by the way that's the guy in our office here that Mike's talking about this morning Exactly So blown away

00:58:07 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 3:

Come on ladies, you gotta step it up at some point

00:58:10 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day, Jen. We'll see ya. What's going on, Danielle? Hi, Mojo. Oh, Danielle, I'm sorry. I just looked at the call screen board. Hi, how are ya?

00:58:26 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 2:

It is so disgusting that adult women are so nasty in the bathroom. I work in an office building, and we all share a bathroom. This person went into the bathroom Did not make it on time And just went everywhere All over the floor It was all over the floor And there's still splatter on the wall Until this day Somebody made a stinky

00:58:54 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god So wait, so can you guys go walk in there later And see this She didn't clean up after herself Or herself

00:59:04 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 2:

No, no. And even I even put a note on the mirror in the bathroom to the cleaning people that this was disgusting and there's still remnants on the wall.

00:59:16 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 4:

On the wall? Quick question.

00:59:18 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 1:

Like, what position are you in? I don't, I really don't understand. It's raining from the ceilings.

00:59:26 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing.

00:59:27 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 1:

You are twerking and pooping. Yeah, halfway squat going down and being missed the toilet.

00:59:32 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 4:

Do you have a theory of who it might be? Like, is there a lead suspect in that building?

00:59:40 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 2:

You know, there's so many people. It's like an open building to the public. So it could be so many people.

00:59:47 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine being in that much of a hurry?

00:59:51 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

They could have got the diarrhea from the restaurant next door. I don't know.

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

By the way, somebody just texted and said, I am currently.

01:00:00 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 2:

pregnant, and the word poop is my gag word. Oh, no. I'm here. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. We'll get you caught up on what's trending right now. Shannon, what do you got in the dirty?

01:00:13 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, a viral video of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez is causing quite the stir on the internet.

01:00:20 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy you're talking about this.

01:00:21 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's actually two. We'll talk about one, and then we'll talk about the other. But it's causing fans to believe that Ben and Jen are on the rocks, or at least What? That troubles a-brewin'. Who called this? So, the video, the first video starts off normal. They're somewhere in L.A. They're walking toward their car. I think it's a Tesla. It doesn't matter. But once they get to the car, Ben opens the door for his lovely wife. But the moment J-Lo is safely tucked into the car, Ben swings the door closed and then swings up his arm, like, hard, okay? And then he walks around to the driver's side of the vehicle And as he does, he looks like he is just in a real pissed off mood So fans have a variety of interpretations of this now viral video Some think he was upset at Jen and just very irritated While others say, no, he just looks annoyed with the paparazzi who are filming them

01:01:18 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 2:

Can I real quick play you the sound? I don't know if it will come across on the radio

01:01:22 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 3:

The sound of the door slam

01:01:25 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was very hard hearing It was aggressive.

01:01:28 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 3:

It was aggressive, yeah. Oh, did you hear that?

01:01:31 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

That was him slamming this nice car's door.

01:01:36 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, timing's everything here. And I say that because that video was posted just hours after Ben and Jen appeared real tense together at a movie premiere. So they were walking the red carpet at this event in L.A., and there's some sort of heavy discussion. discussion, I don't know how to describe it, that goes on between the two of them. Well, of course, you know, the tabloids, the Daily Mail has to get a lip reading expert in to see exactly what was said. We love it. The expert said that during that particular exchange on the red carpet, J-Lo appeared to ask Ben whether her low cut top was showing too much. He responds, it's fine. He then asks her to come closer to him before leaning into her ear and saying, don't worry, babe so nothing nothing too off about that it looked worse than than what it really was the

01:02:28 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 2:

way that ben watch this video i'm sure you'll post it right now i'm literally in the middle of posting so the reason why i say watch this video after he slams the door he does this look off in the distance and kind of like he's an angered look yeah but it had a lot of people the paparazzi theory doesn't work for me because he says hi to the paparazzi and is nice to the

01:02:47 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 3:

paparazzi afterwards yeah it's almost like he's been media trained and realized he overreacted and needed a good reaction for the cameras there. Ryan Reynolds trolling his good friend Taylor Swift over her rumored romance with the 1975's Maddie Healy on Instagram shared a selfie of himself singing to, or not singing, set to, excuse me, the 1975 song Chocolate. He added the words Zoom Zoom to the post, a little nod to their relationship, which, by the way, if you missed last hour, Taylor, Maddie spotted kissing in New York City last night. The 58th Academy of Country Music, better known as the ACM Awards, went down last night, and Lainey Wilson was the night's standout artist with three big wins, including Album of the Year, Chris Stapleton, winning the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award, Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Keith Urban, and Jelly Roll among the night's performers, with Dolly Parton actually closing out the show with the performance of World on Fire, which is a new track off of her brand-new rock album called Rockstar. Ed Sheeran making a surprise appearance To perform his new song Life Goes On in a duet with Luke Combs Actually said in an interview yesterday That he would love to transition Into country music I can see it

01:04:10 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 1:

There's a radio station in England Called Chris Country Which is like England's country radio station That's the radio station me and my wife Have it on in the house the entire time. She's, like, obsessed with country music like I am. I need to get some boots.

01:04:21 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

He considers himself a major country music fan, lived in Nashville, I think twice for extended periods of time, and he said his buddy Taylor Swift turned him on to country music. And in celebration of Mother's Day this weekend, Family Guy's Lois Griffin has been voted the nation's favorite mom. The top 50 moms were voted for in a poll which found Serena Williams, Morticia Adams And soon to be mama of two Rihanna also making that list That is such bull crap Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore and Goldie Hawn Were also among the well known names which came in on top When asked what makes a good mom 41%

01:05:00 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

said it was mom's ability to multitask, while 46% said being supportive was key to successful parenting. J-Lo, Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie are featured in the top 10 most voted when respondents were asked who they would like to be their mom. Meanwhile, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, and Carol Brady from the Brady Bunch were voted in the top 20 most iconic moms of all time. Madonna? Wow. Yeah, I know. That one surprised me, too. Oh, my gosh.

01:06:07 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 2:

It's July the 15th, so make sure you do no plans for July the 15th.

01:06:11 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 4:

No plans. I'm a teacher. I'm home for the summer. That's awesome.

01:06:15 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 2:

When's the last day of school for you?

01:06:17 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 4:

My birthday, believe it or not, June 15th.

01:06:19 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 2:

All right, I bet you know this. How many days left?

01:06:23 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I'll be honest with you. I haven't counted, probably, definitely low 20%.

01:06:27 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 2:

You are the only teacher, friend, or listener, friend that I know of. Who doesn't know? Doesn't, every, I swear, actually, I feel like in January, most of my friends who are teachers or work in schools, they all know the exact date of how many days that they have left. Oh, that's awesome.

01:06:44 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 3:

I know, I know.

01:06:45 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy for you. I want to say hello to the kids. What do the kids know you as?

01:06:50 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 3:

Mrs. Ross. That's what they know me as.

01:06:52 - 01:06:54 | Speaker 2:

And what school again is this?

01:06:54 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 3:

I am in Warren Consolidated Schools at Willow Woods.

01:06:58 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Hello to everybody that has Mrs. Ross as a teacher. We just want you to know that she's the coolest lady in the world. She's going to be in a good mood today because she won these tickets. Do not set her in a bad mood. Fridays are fun anyway, right? Fridays are kind of more low-key.

01:07:18 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 3:

I'm so happy I'm crying. Oh, my goodness.

01:07:21 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 2:

That's incredible. Have a great time. Enjoy the rest of your ride to work, okay?

01:07:25 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you so much. Have a great one.

01:07:27 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey, you too. Hold on. Lydia's going to grab some information from you. Are you okay? Are you okay? That was your sigh of, I can't believe I just got those. I loved it. That was awesome.

01:07:39 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm literally at 7-Eleven crying right now. Oh, my God.

01:07:45 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 2:

That was awesome. Hold on one second. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I did something yesterday in the afternoon that was very interesting. And I'll share with you guys this and tell me if you think I was crazy for doing it. So by my house, there is a gas station. And so I was filling up my gas. And while I was filling up my gas, and I kind of sit there, there's a couple things I like to do when I'm filling up my gas. Number one, I usually will check my text messages and things like that Which I know people say you should never do by the thing Or number two, I watch Jerry Millen's greenhouse commercials for the weed shop on my house

01:08:30 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 1:

On Gas Station TV

01:08:30 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 2:

Because they are so creative Jerry, by the way, used to work here And it's funny because his stuff is so damn creative that I'll sit there and go, that is a very funny commercial Like, hey, you with a nice car You know, what's that?

01:08:43 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 4:

They play weed commercials at your gas station Yeah, the weed shop that's by us.

01:08:49 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

That's what you guys need in Ohio. You guys need to get this thing passed so that you guys can have the fun of all that going on. So I'm filling up my tank, and all of a sudden I hear, I say, hey, excuse me. And I turn and look. And that's, by the way, the craziest thing to have somebody come up and walk up to you. You know, you kind of get alerted by that. And I turn and look, and it's this very cute-looking guy. um when i would say young guy like he looked like he was so he looked like honestly like he could be like one of my sons okay or he looked like he could have been the kid from the five at 655 that's been playing with us aiden like he was one of those kind of kids like this is cute little guy and i said i said yes i always want to say yes son um and he goes hey could you give me a ride to kroger and he had his kroger like outfit on it you know yeah his uniform on he had like kroger shirt and stuff and i said uh yeah and and he goes yeah he goes i apologize he goes i was gonna have to walk there but i'll never make it by my shift and it's like three miles from where this gas station is because i'm far because i'm yeah it's pretty good distance away there's no way to walk listen if he's gonna walk that there's no way he's making a shift because of he told me what his shift was so i said uh hop in i pull the thing out of my car pop it in there i get in the car and i start driving well that just then my phone rings and it's my wife on the phone so i pick up i go hey chelis um say hi to what's your name and the kid and the kid goes uh brett oh hey say hi to brett who's brett like i go there's a kid i just met him at the shell station i'm giving him a ride to kroger chelsea's like you what and she's like and i go just everything's okay don't worry about it so i'm driving and whatever and i've got chelsea on the phone and she's kind of like small talking with me and won't tell me why she's calling at all right we pull up into the kroger over in union lake over off of commerce road in uh union lake road and we pull right up to the front and i go hey have a great day at work i'll talk to you later and he's like thank you so much we'll see you later it's like i was saying goodbye to my kid door slams chelsea's like What the hell are you doing And I said What are you talking about And she goes You're giving a stranger a ride Like you understand That we're like living in crazy times right now Where there's people getting carjacked And stuff like that And I said to her I go Chelsea If you only saw this kid I'm not kidding you This kid was like so sweet And so nice And I didn't know what was going on So I ask you Shannon and Megan and Mike And Lydia KP You know, everybody that's here Am I crazy? She said I picked up a hitchhiker I said he really wasn't a hitchhiker Oh, he was

01:11:30 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 3:

Right, right He was

01:11:32 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Like, I think of a hitchhiker I think of, like, a big burly guy With, you know, like, long hair And kind of looks like he's gonna Right

01:11:41 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 3:

I feel bad saying this But I think that if I were in that situation I would do kind of what you did in Judge Like, okay, this kid He's a cute kid wearing his Kroger uniform I could help him out he doesn't have you know a knife in his pocket he's not going to chop me up into a million little

01:11:56 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 2:

pieces but maybe not the smartest I felt extremely safe yeah yeah but I feel like when you hear all those stories of people that chop people up into little pieces it's never like oh I looked at him and he looked like he was going to chop me up very true Mike it's always a guy you never think Chelsea said Chelsea said to me she goes not everybody looks the same way that you think it is and then she goes and it could have been like that oh that Idaho school guy or whatever it was Like the case or whatever. And I thought to myself, oh my God, Chelsea's watching a little bit of TV. But then I thought to myself, I'm like, well, I don't even know what that guy looks like. I looked him up online and I go, they kind of resemble each other a little bit. Then she said, what would you have done? Because this is always the one that gets you all the time, right? What would you have done if I did that? And then I was like, all right, you got me on that. Because whenever they do the whole, what would you have done if I did that thing? The rules were reversed. Or what would you have done if, like, you know, Luke or, you know, Joe or Jacob did that?

01:12:58 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 3:

That's just such a very you thing, though, with this whole story.

01:13:02 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 2:

Ron? Yes. Ron, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:13:07 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay, good. I think you spoke on this topic before.

01:13:12 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

About picking up hitchhikers?

01:13:14 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:13:14 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 2:

What was my take on it back then? What did I say? uh you're a good guy so probably do it because chelsea claims that i said i said one time never pick up a hitchhiker but i don't ever remember talking about it in the air but what's going on

01:13:29 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 1:

i always go out of my way to do nice stuff i picked up these people on the side of the road and it was they had like broke down and then like i would clean my car every week At the end of the week when I cleaned my car I think I found Crack or meth pipe Oh Bad idea

01:13:52 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 2:

By the way Why did this guy get through

01:13:57 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm on drugs

01:13:59 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 2:

Wait was that bad No no no no Can I be honest with you It's great but now my wife's Going to claim that this kid has Meth or something But Ron You sound like the nicest human being in the world Listen, I gotta be

01:14:18 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 1:

I am nice When I'm at Walmart And I see old people I will help them out to the parking lot And load their groceries in their car

01:14:26 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 2:

That's so sweet

01:14:28 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 1:

I give back to the community

01:14:29 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Ron, I have to ask you a very important question What did you do with the meth pipe That you got in the backseat of your car?

01:14:38 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 1:

I put it to the trash And then I told my kids' mom And she always says that I'm stupid And I get too involved in helping people

01:14:45 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 2:

She's a meanie weenie

01:14:47 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 1:

See if you were truly nice you would have tracked him down

01:14:49 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 3:

And gave him his pipe down That's true

01:14:52 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Bad idea

01:14:53 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 3:

Ron so you can't, I don't know, you can't trust nobody.

01:15:02 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 1:

All right, God love you, Ron. Happy Friday. Call us more often, Ron. You might be my favorite caller.

01:15:08 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 3:

I could be a, listen, I could be a misfit. Misfit Ron. Let's put misfit Ron. Yeah, listen, I'm telling you, I could comment some weird stuff.

01:15:16 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Lydia, get Ron. This is misfit Ron, all right? We're getting him on, the misfits. Hold on one second. You're great. I love that guy. What's up, Bob?

01:15:26 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Mojo?

01:15:28 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm good. I think we might have just had the best call that we'll have all day, but what's going on?

01:15:33 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 2:

I picked up a homeless girl. I found her at Sunoco, and I took her home and fed her and let her shower at my house for a week.

01:15:42 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 1:

For a week? No, I'm wrong, Mike. I feel like there's more to this story.

01:15:46 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 2:

No, there's more to this story. I didn't know what's going on here. I did not touch her.

01:15:51 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 1:

You got her stay with you for a week? That wasn't the first question, but okay.

01:15:56 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 2:

What was the first question? Yeah, but the fact that he brought it up is sus. Yes.

01:16:02 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

Do you know Ron?

01:16:06 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 2:

This is 412 Ron.

01:16:09 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 1:

No, you're 412 what?

01:16:13 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 2:

Ron.

01:16:14 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 1:

It says Bob up here.

01:16:17 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 2:

I tried telling him. She literally had told me that because there was another Ron.

01:16:23 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. No, I feel like he's lying about his name. No, there's something with guys named Ron. Is it Ron or Bob?

01:16:31 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

What are we getting with?

01:16:32 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 1:

No, his name is Ron, but he said Bob because we already had a Ron on the phone. So you are, here's the deal. That last guy was Ron. You're Ron 2.0. Okay?

01:16:43 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, 412 Ron.

01:16:46 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 1:

All right, so you guys are not from the same area. So hold on one second, okay? Well, that's great. All right. Unbelievable. Which guy, by the way, is the creepier of the guys? The guy that, I think 2.0, right? Because Ron was just a nice guy. Yeah. Ron was just nice. He's a little meth-y, but still, he was nice.

01:17:09 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but Ron 2.0 said, I didn't touch her. It was immediately sucks.

01:17:15 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 1:

Kim, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:17:18 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hi, guys. Love you guys. I'll see you every morning. Oh, thank you. I love you, man. I just want – I wanted to tell you, Mojo, please don't pick up strangers. Yeah. Because, okay, so in Jackson, not too long ago – and you probably can look this story up. It was a 17-year-old. He was driving to pick up. He picked up, I think, a 12- and a 13-year-old, and they killed him.

01:17:42 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez.

01:17:43 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 5:

It was during the time we were having the storm, the bad storm. And I think it was a black They didn't have power in Jackson And he caught himself Helping them out

01:17:57 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing though, Kim To be fair It's Jackson, they have signs up Saying that there's a prison right there And not to pick up hitchhikers You should not be doing that

01:18:09 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 5:

They were 12 and 13

01:18:10 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 1:

They were 12 and 13 That's crazy

01:18:15 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 5:

He was doing a good job I'm going to help these little kids out you know, get out of the storm, and they killed them. So I'm just saying, I'm with your wife.

01:18:26 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 1:

Which one did you like more, Ron or Ron 2.0?

01:18:32 - 01:18:32 | Unknown:

Ron.

01:18:32 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 1:

Ron was good. He was nice. Carol, what's happening? Last call here, Carol. I got to move on. What's going on?

01:18:39 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, first I want to know, was Ron 2.0 picking up a hitchhiker or did he kidnap a woman for a week? Yeah, that story's making me nervous. So I was at the corner of Maple and Orchard driving towards Birmingham, and I saw a woman standing at the side of the road waiting for a bus, and it was pouring rain. And I thought to myself, oh, the poor thing. And in my rearview mirror, the bus is literally behind me, so I'm thrilled she's going to get a ride. I watch as the bus passes this woman, doesn't pick her up. I turn my car around, and I pull up to the side of the road. She's Albanian. She doesn't speak much English, and I try to tell her, you can trust me. I'm a mom. I have two kids. you know get in my car i'll take you home i i called the woman i worked with to translate to tell her she'd be safe if she got in my car i would drive her to the bus station so the next bus station she tells me is at maple and telegraph but when she gets to the corner it doesn't look familiar so she thinks it's maple and woodward okay we go to maple and woodward maybe it's eight and woodward she's not sure i call my friend i said i don't know where i'm supposed to drop this woman off she says well she'll tell you where she lives eastland mall oh geez for those who don't know that that was a yeah i took her door to door took me about 40 minutes basically oh my god you were carol

01:20:00 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

You were an Uber.

01:20:01 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 2:

I was an Uber.

01:20:03 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Oh, my gosh.

01:20:05 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 2:

Before we were Ubers.

01:20:06 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 1:

The goodness of your heart. That was so sweet. Well, thank you for the call.

01:20:10 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 2:

You got it home. All right, have a great week.

01:20:12 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself. You too.

01:20:14 - 01:20:15 | Unknown:

Here we go. Now.

01:20:16 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Throwback Throwdown.

01:20:18 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 1:

Where are we watching this? Is this on TikTok? We are live on TikTok right now. Live on TikTok. Hello, I'm your host, Mojo. with your judge, KP, and your contestants here today. Your choices, Shannon, Megan, or Mike. Hannah, who do you choose?

01:20:42 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to choose Shannon. Yes. What's going on, Hannah?

01:20:46 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 1:

You won a couple in a row last week. What's going on, Hannah?

01:20:52 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Hannah? Fuck. Not a lot at all. I'm just hoping to win some Chelsea Handler. It makes me kind of laugh.

01:20:58 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's great. We got tickets to Chelsea Handler as the prize today. Brandy, you've got the Slightly Messy podcast still on the board. Mike and Megan, who are you choosing?

01:21:09 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm choosing Mike today.

01:21:13 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

You should have saw Megan's face because she thought she was about to get picked. I got it on camera. I did, Brandy.

01:21:19 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 2:

I really was pumped up. Mike's the man today.

01:21:23 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate you. I hope you lose. Mike was out last week, so Mike didn't get a chance to play. Otherwise, he would have been going for two in a row. Although, I guess we can say, or three in a row, I think it was. So, Mike actually, Shannon's going for three in a row, and Mike's going for three in a row. As weird as that sounds.

01:21:39 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm looking for three points.

01:21:40 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, there you go. Jeremy has got Megan. Come on, Megan.

01:21:48 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 2:

Jeremy, Jeremy, we don't got this, Jeremy.

01:21:54 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 1:

If you're wondering why Shannon was fanning herself just a couple minutes ago, it's not because of any other reason than it's 8,000 degrees here in studio, and we cannot wait to bring up animals into the studio at this great temperature that we have. They'll actually think that they're in their native home places. Yeah, it's a real one. First to three, your name is your buzzer here, title and artist of the songs, the first song and the Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown is...

01:26:27 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 1:

Drake, she knows.

01:26:34 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 2:

I might be too strung out on compliments. Overdose on confidence. Started not to give a f*** and stop fearing the consequence. Drinking every night because we drink tomorrow. My accomplishments made it way too long. I'm floating in and out of consciousness, and they saying I'm back. I'd agree with that. I just take my time with all this shit. I still believe in that. I had someone to be up at all. Who I needed at. And they want to see me.

01:26:58 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 3:

Mike. Drake, they know? Buzzer. No. By the way, Mike, real quick. Stop for saying. Your headphones might be the loudest headphones I've ever seen. You're going to lose your hearing. No, it's my phone. I forgot to put it on mute. Oh, okay. It's not a headphone. Back to this one.

01:27:12 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

I know I exaggerated things. It's all you, Shannon. You can win it on this one. Oh, man. You know good and well that you don't want a problem like that. You gonna make someone around me catch a body like that. No, don't do it. So disappointed. Please don't do it. Cause one of us goes in and we all go through it. Drizzy got the money, so Drizzy gonna pay it. Those my brothers, I ain't even gotta say it. That's just something they know. You're never gonna get it. Shut up. Can I do it again?

01:27:42 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:27:43 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Shannon.

01:27:45 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 4:

Drake. I know.

01:27:47 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 3:

I know. It's Drake Headlines. Oh, don't do it.

01:27:52 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, nobody gets that. We don't do it. Cause one of us goes in and we all go to it. And Drizzy got the money, so Drizzy gon' pay it. Those my brothers, I ain't even gotta say it. That's just something they know.

01:28:05 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 3:

They know, they know. Drake is always notorious for naming songs.

01:28:09 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:28:10 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Of the things that he really doesn't even say. Not even a lyric. All right, so Mike is still on the board. Zero point zero. Shannon could win her third in a row. Megan, you are on the board with one. Hey, yo. Hey, yo. Oh, speaking of that, next song. Megan. Megan. Megan.

01:28:34 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 1:

The Lumineers, Hey, How?

01:28:36 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 4:

Yes, correct answer. I want a replay of that. That was Megan. I've been all with you You've been all with me in my seat Hey! Ho!

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Unknown:

Hey!

01:28:56 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

That was Leading the Witness, I'm pretty sure. Well, you know what? It's a segue in radio, they call it. They say...

01:29:03 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 4:

This is not good radio!

01:29:04 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 3:

Come on, it is. That was a good segue. If Spex Howard were still around, God rest his soul, he would have given me an award for that. Score update, please.

01:29:13 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we got Shannon and Megan both with two right now.

01:29:17 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 3:

And Mike has yet to even show for this party, Brandy. We got to talk, by the way.

01:29:24 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't go, Mike. It's all right.

01:29:25 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 3:

We got to have a little discussion about Mike's attire today, okay? What he's wearing. We'll get into that coming up here in a little bit, but I was looking at this.

01:29:32 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 4:

What's he wearing?

01:29:33 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, go check it out for everybody's self, but let me play the contest. Why? Because, ready? You better get close to that microphone. Okay, okay, okay. Megan. Yep. You or Shannon can win it on this one. Mike, get on the board. The next song is...

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 2:

I can't think of the name, but I do, I do.

01:30:05 - 01:30:05 | Unknown:

Megan.

01:30:05 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 1:

Megan for the win.

01:30:07 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Pitbull, Don't Stop the Party? Correct answer, Megan, is just one to throw back, throw down.

01:30:17 - 01:30:21 | Unknown:

Winner. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

01:30:21 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, nobody, like, get down, don't stop the party. Hi, Megan, I love you. Wow. Jeremy, you just pulled off the upset of upsets. We didn't think that there's a chance that she could have won. Congratulations. Thanks, Megan.

01:30:37 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome, Jeremy. I'm unstoppable. Not going to lie, I have my doubts.

01:30:44 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang on one sec. We'll get you set up with your prize, okay? Those Chelsea Handler tickets. Hold on. Hold on. We got a problem. We have a non-winner in the throwback throwdown. Somebody caught it. I said do the replay.

01:31:14 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 3:

I said do the replay.

01:31:15 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 1:

I'm so happy. Wait, did the replay? Why did you say do the replay?

01:31:18 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

Because he was wondering if he said his name before Megan, and that was definitely Megan.

01:31:22 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Not that. No, that's not what I'm talking about. No, it's this part. Here, take a listen. And we have Megan not winning the throwback throwdown because, listen to this. All right, so Mike is still on the board. Zero point zero. Shannon could win her third in a row. Megan, you are on the board with one. Hey, yo, hey, yo. Oh, speaking of that, next song. Megan. Megan. It was Megan.

01:31:54 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 3:

The Lumineers, hey, ho.

01:31:56 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Oh, no, no, no, no. Megan said the wrong name of the song. It's Lumineers. Oh, hey. So we now have that song completely thrown out. That song has just officially been thrown out of this particular contest. I'm sorry, but we're going to have to take that back from you.

01:32:38 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't have, okay, I don't have much going for me ever in life. And this is the one, no, don't cut me off. Don't you dare take this from me too. I never ever get anything. Let's go. And you're going to take this one bit

01:32:55 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 1:

01:33:28 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Contest is still going. The next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback Throwdown, as we continue here on the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:33:39 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to play.

01:33:44 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 1:

Is.

01:33:46 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 2:

Megan.

01:33:47 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 1:

Megan.

01:33:48 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 2:

Wyclef Jean, Shakira, Hips Don't Lie. Correct answer. She has won the throwback throwdown officially.

01:33:56 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 1:

I did it twice, baby. I did it twice. You did it. You did it once. She does win. I know I'm home tonight.

01:34:04 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm home tonight. I'm starting to win. What an emotional roller coaster. Hold on a second.

01:34:11 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Real quick. We do have a problem.

01:34:14 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

01:34:15 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

No, you still win. Actually, you win. Congratulations to you. Official, Megan has won for this week the Throwback Throwdown. Give it up for her. Anybody that says that you can't do anything that you set your mind to, did you set your mind to this?

01:34:35 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. I just set my mind to waking up on time for the show today. I did it.

01:34:42 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to Megan, this week's winner of the Throwback Throwdown. All right, we've got to get to our petting zoo here in a second. so explain uh what we have going on here are we still on facebook live let me look real quick uh we sent uh misfit steve with oh he is there he is hold on let me pull this up so we got Misfit Steve on Facebook Live. He's been doing a Facebook Live now for how long? That's when they pull

01:35:05 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 3:

away. Hi. Oh my god. Yeah, no, no, no.

01:35:11 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Al just is more nervous. I got you. Rozzy's a little more used to people. Rozzy, you're so

01:35:15 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 3:

cute. Oh my god.

01:35:19 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god.

01:35:21 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 1:

He's like going around. He's been on 28 minutes long on Facebook Live. 28 minutes long doing his doing his thing. Should we call him? Do we have his phone number? Can somebody dial him? I can send you his phone number, yeah. Well, the problem is you send it to him, you're sending it to him on a phone that he's doing Facebook Live. Well, he's

01:35:41 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 2:

using your phone for Facebook Live. I know, but

01:35:43 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 1:

if you send me the number, I don't have my phone to look at the number. How about I go down there and you call me? No, no. Why don't you go in the other room and dial him up? Dial him up. Why don't I just

01:35:51 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 3:

text him and just have him talk to us?

01:35:53 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I guess he can't hear us. Well, the problem is it's delayed.

01:35:55 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 3:

You guys, honest to God,

01:35:57 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 1:

thank you God it's Friday. Yeah, call the call the call the raccoon yeah see if the raccoon see if the raccoon well no honestly you should not take offense there how about kp is the producer of this radio show can we get him on the phone let me just go run down there and say hi to him no we got phones we got phones here yes hi misfit steve are you there what's up mojo how you doing dude it is a

01:36:28 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 3:

zoo down here it's pretty amazing like a literal zoo down there uh it definitely smells like a zoo

01:36:36 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 1:

but uh yeah it's pretty awesome i love this so you're on facebook live so you continue to do facebook live while you talk to us on your phone um the animals look beautiful what's your favorite

01:36:47 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 3:

so far oh my god we have this huge skunk right now i'm looking at a tarantula um we have two alpacas I can't even pick a favorite like they're all just so cute and amazing so should we do this

01:37:02 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 1:

should we have the animals for the zoo come up to the studio or would it be not conceivable that we

01:37:10 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 3:

could get them all up to the studio I don't think we could get them all up but some of them are in

01:37:16 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 1:

cages that we could probably bring up is there any way that we could just get video for some reason of I just think it would be funny to see alpacas in our elevator and you know the whole idea of an alpaca in an elevator

01:37:29 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 3:

is funny to me. The alpacas are actually afraid right now and they aren't coming in the building. Yeah, they're scared.

01:37:37 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 1:

Who are the people with the alpacas because I remember it was a charity organization that was doing this that wanted to plug a big event that they got coming up.

01:37:46 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, let me go grab them. They brought some other animals with them too. They have a real cute bunny. I'm Mojo on the phone, and he wanted to talk to you about the big plug.

01:37:57 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Tell us again. This is a beautiful – this is the organization that works with people that are autistic, and they have this house where the old car dealer Don Massey used to live, right? What's the name of this? Living and Learning. Living and Learning. And where are you guys located?

01:38:18 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 2:

We're located literally on the border of Novi and Northfield.

01:38:22 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 1:

And it's such a nice thing that you guys do. You guys give a lot of great families peace because if they have, like, you know, maybe a son or a daughter or whoever that has autism, they can go there and they actually get jobs from you guys.

01:38:42 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 2:

That's right. When you get out of high school, if you have a special need, there's nothing. Nothing exists. It's almost like you fall off a cliff. So that's why we did this.

01:38:50 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's nice. And you guys have these animals for what reason?

01:38:54 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 2:

Therapy, animal therapy, it calms people. And with the alpacas, it's almost like they have autism. They're very skittish and nervous, and they have to make sure that they trust you before they let you pet them. And the other reason with the alpacas is it's jobs for them. They're feeding them and everything else, but we send their fiber to a fiber mill. They make socks with it, and then we sell them.

01:39:18 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's sweet.

01:39:19 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:39:19 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 1:

And you guys also do other animals, too, like you have bees with honey and all the rest of that, right?

01:39:25 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

That's right. We have bees, and we have chickens, and we sell eggs, we sell honey, and we do this on our front porch every morning. Very cool. I love that.

01:39:33 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 1:

What animals did you bring with you?

01:39:35 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

We brought two alpacas and a bunny.

01:39:38 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's sweet. And when is this charity event that you guys are having, this big shindig?

01:39:45 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's June 2nd. It's our second gala, and it's held on our beautiful campus. We have 14 acres of just beautiful, beautiful property.

01:39:54 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 1:

And how do people get tickets if they want to buy tickets?

01:39:57 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 2:

You go online. learning uh on the website you know but unfortunately it's already sold out oh that's

01:40:05 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

okay that's good that's good for you guys but if people want to make a donation right if you two

01:40:10 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 2:

would care to come we will make an exception oh jason car is our emcee for the night oh my gosh and we have 50 amp use playing for three and a half oh sweet that's great 27 restaurants bringing food uh we have 60 kinds of wine we're serving it's going to be a remarkable event and an amazing

01:40:30 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 1:

silent auction and live auction as well well you guys are still up for a chance to win our only fans uh 500 that we have here uh but there are some other crazy animals that are there have you

01:40:41 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 2:

seen some of the other ones ours aren't really crazy but they're kind of wild no shannon's

01:40:47 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 1:

obsessed with yours so she's a judge i love alpacas yeah she she's never seen an alpaca she didn't love?

01:40:55 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, like I said, it's wild. There's an alligator here.

01:41:01 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Let's bring the alligator up to the studio.

01:41:05 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 2:

Is that what you want?

01:41:06 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 1:

Can we? How large is this alligator? Can we bring the alligator up to like Kim Blockcamp, our sales manager studio, and just have it waiting there for her?

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

I really don't think she would enjoy that.

01:41:18 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you do this? What animals can you bring up to the studio? Bring them in the elevator so we can get it on Facebook Live and get video of that.

01:41:24 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm kind of loving the skunk.

01:41:25 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

And then let's have,

01:41:26 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 2:

bring the skunk up.

01:41:27 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 1:

If that skunk squirts us, I'm going to be pissed. It still has its skunkability, right?

01:41:34 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it still has its skunkability. She said it would bite before it sprays.

01:41:38 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 1:

Really? How does she know? Is she a skunk expert? She's some lady that found it in her yard. I know.

01:41:42 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, I went to go downstairs to pet him and that's what she told me.

01:41:45 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 1:

You pet the skunk?

01:41:46 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

I did.

01:41:47 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I can't believe you.

01:41:49 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, here they come. Here they come.

01:41:51 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, are they walking in? Okay, who are you? Who are you coming in here? Are you just a strange man that just walked in? Who are you?

01:41:57 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm Matthew.

01:41:58 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 1:

You're Matthew? What animal do you have?

01:42:00 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you have the sugar gliders? I have two sugar gliders. Oh, I want them.

01:42:03 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 1:

What are sugar gliders?

01:42:05 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 3:

They are nocturnal marsupials.

01:42:08 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:42:08 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they're so cute.

01:42:10 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 1:

Look at that.

01:42:11 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 3:

Can I take them out? Is it okay?

01:42:12 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

You can as long as you stay on that side of the control board. What is a sugar glider?

01:42:20 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 3:

Phineas? They're like flying little squirrely things. The one that's the same brand, I think it's a standard gray. Yeah. It's called Mocha. Okay. Oh, they're crawling all over. She's mine. My girlfriend actually had five of them when I got with her, and I had one, so we made quite a happy family. Wow. We have four that are caramels. They're a different color.

01:42:41 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I think you lost one of them. Is it still on you? Okay. All right, good. I was making sure on that one.

01:42:46 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 3:

I still got it.

01:42:47 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 1:

No offense, but I think I've had exterminators have to get rid of animals that look like that.

01:42:51 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 3:

You can pet him.

01:42:52 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 1:

He likes him soft. You know what? I love that, but no.

01:42:57 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 3:

It sounds great. Everybody votes for Mocha and Phineas.

01:43:00 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 1:

Mocha and Phineas. There you go.

01:43:02 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 3:

Michelle wanted to come today, but she's on the phone.

01:43:04 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 1:

Hello, Michelle. Where's Michelle at right now?

01:43:06 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

She works at McLaren.

01:43:08 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:43:08 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 3:

McLaren McCone.

01:43:10 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hello.

01:43:11 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 3:

It's Nurses Week, so. Yeah, happy Nurses Week to you.

01:43:15 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of that, does anybody nurse these animals? How do you feed them? What do you feed them with?

01:43:20 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 3:

You want to feed them?

01:43:22 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no.

01:43:23 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, do it. Come on, Mojo.

01:43:25 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

What do you feed them? Go ahead. Bring it over here and I'll feed it. Let me see what you got. Can I feed it a Girl Scout cookie? I got some Girl Scout cookies.

01:43:32 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 3:

No Girl Scout cookies.

01:43:33 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

All right. By the way, we're going to get to the dirty in a second. I promise you. Oh, jeez. Oh, my. No, no, no. Come on. It's like a worm or something. That's what it is. Do it. I'm not feeding a worm to this thing. Do it. All right, come on. Baby bird it.

01:43:45 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 3:

Baby bird it. Put it in your mouth. Oh, my God.

01:43:49 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Put it in where? Open hand. Open hand. Oh, jeez. All right, all right, all right. Oh, you saw that. Oh, I took it right out of his hand. That's so cute.

01:44:01 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 2:

All right. Do you get nervous?

01:44:04 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I do.

01:44:05 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 2:

Didn't you see his shoulders practically touch his ears?

01:44:08 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's what I would like to do.

01:44:10 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 2:

I would like to...

01:44:11 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I can't do that. Wait a second. You're scared of the worm. Yeah. But you're not scared of the rat?

01:44:16 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 2:

Correct. I can't do the worm, snake.

01:44:19 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 3:

Nope. All right.

01:44:22 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Let's do this. Steve. Yes, sir. Tell everybody to hang out there. We're going to judge here in a second. We got them on Facebook Live. Continue Facebook Live. And then bring some other interesting ones up to the studio. We're going to do the dirty, though, okay? All right. Shannon's going to feed this. And what are you feeding this thing?

01:44:39 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I am feeding it. This is a yogurt cup. You're just going to hold it up.

01:44:42 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 1:

She's going to give it a little yogurt. Is it like yogurt? Is this like Froyo or Froyo? Oh, my God. Froyo?

01:44:50 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 3:

If you hold it close enough, you might be able to hear it squeak.

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Who would squeak, Shannon or the animal? Mocha.

01:45:00 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 5:

Shannon would have squeaked if she had to help hold one of the worms. Alright, we're going to get to this. Here we go. Thanks for listening to us.

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty

01:45:12 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 5:

on the 30. Alright, Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the 30 right now and we've got some confirmation on Taylor Swift.

01:45:20 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Sure, dude, thanks to a Swifties dad by the way. It is official Taylor Swift and Maddie Healy from the 1975 are definitely an item. I mean, we kind of knew this anyway, but they were holding hands and some mooching last night at Casa Cipriani in New York City, which, by the way, is a big place for celebrities to see and be seen. They were sitting next to each other in the lounge there, and truly, it was a Swifties dad who was like, I know who that is. I better get some video for my daughter. He just so happened to be sitting next to Maddie and Taylor, took some video with his iPhone. and he said, neither one of them ordered food. Taylor ordered a glass of wine. But yeah, there was lots of PDA. There was some kissing. Jack Antonoff, who is obviously a very good friend of Taylor's, was with them. Security was all around them. But when they got up to leave, Taylor and Maddie were holding hands. So it's on, for sure.

01:46:14 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if the guy was able to make any money off of this. The dad there, at least to pay his mail.

01:46:19 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, his daughter was the one that posted the video that I saw going around.

01:46:22 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

I aspire to be that dad, though. that's like, yeah, we went to a Taylor Swift concert and I got the video.

01:46:28 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, this wasn't even a show. Yeah, it was a restaurant. Yeah, it was a dinner.

01:46:31 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 5:

It's funny, have you guys ever sat next to a celebrity at a restaurant? Have you guys ever had that happen to you? I sat next to Jake Gyllenhaal and his mom. At Bubby's. At Bubby's in New York, and his mom was yelling at him the entire time.

01:46:45 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 3:

I sat next to a K-pop band when we vacationed in Hawaii and we didn't even know it. And I felt so dumb. About a month later, I figure out who they were. I was like, I was two feet away from them.

01:46:55 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 5:

Was it anybody that we would know?

01:46:57 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 3:

I think it was, I'm pretty sure it was BTS. Really? And I didn't know.

01:47:01 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh. Yeah, I could imagine the whole time I would be thinking to myself that they would be in their own private rooms, but I guess they do.

01:47:08 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, I knew they were important by the way that they were being followed around. And like they had a group of people that was surrounding their table and stuff. But I didn't really put all the pieces together together. Yeah, yeah. Because I wasn't like a fan at the time. And then afterwards, I was like, oh, my God, what a missed opportunity.

01:47:24 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 5:

Should I wash my hands after touching a worm and having an animal eat it? Do you have a sanitizer or something? Yeah, I need something. Here. Here, here, here. Okay.

01:47:32 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Ryan Reynolds' bid. Oh, sorry. Okay. That was a really bad throw. Now, you know why my kid is so bad at baseball because I cannot help him whatsoever. Okay, Ryan Reynolds' bid for the Ottawa Senators not moving forward. We talked about this. The planned sale of the Senators has garnered, excuse me, plenty of interest and is shaping up to be kind of like this bidding war among a few different celebrities snoop dog announced he's a part of a bid the weekend is a part of a different bid led by some toronto billionaires but according to a real good source of mine ryan's request for an exclusive window to complete the deal was denied so he was like i'm out he's done a recent forbes valuation put the senators at 800 million dollars by the way adidas has a plan for kanye west's unsold yeezy stuff they're gonna sell it and then donate some of the proceeds to charity now again adidas cut ties with kanye after he was you know making those anti-semitic comments but the ceo of adidas said burning the goods would not be a solution they also decided against donating the yeezy stuff to prevent them from reaching the market through indirect avenues you knew that that would happen so instead they're going to sell proceeds are set to be donated to organizations that kanye has harmed with his recent string of controversial comments. Kanye will also reportedly be entitled to some of that cash under the terms of the partner set.

01:48:53 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 4:

Is it for, like, raised prices or is it going to be, like... It's a good question.

01:48:58 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know.

01:48:59 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I know I shouldn't buy them, but I would just because...

01:49:03 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 2:

If they were discounted a little bit? If they were discounted

01:49:05 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 4:

and going to a good place. Yeah.

01:49:07 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. This is a big story this morning. Peloton is recalling more than 2 million of their bikes in the United States.

01:49:16 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Consumer alert. It involves popular peloton exercise bikes the company is recalling two million of them it says there have been nearly three dozen reports of the post that holds up the seat breaking and detaching during use oh gee several injuries if you have one of these bikes you should stop using it immediately and contact peloton for a free repair seat post that can be self-installed so wait a second so

01:49:40 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 2:

what happens to the like so the seat post will break and then detach from the bike like while people are sitting on it is when this is happening um so there have been several people who have not only just suffered cuts and bruises one person got a fractured wrist i mean they're really getting

01:49:55 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

hurt here so you could actually get like uh more of a workout that way

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 2:

With the fear of that happening to you.

01:50:02 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 7:

And lastly, that couple who licked a tub of ice cream and then left it on the grocery store shelf. We talked about this story yesterday. It was all fake. They just wanted to go viral. A spokesperson for the Virginia State Police said Taquan Hines and his girlfriend Asia did, in fact, purchase that tub of ice cream after they filmed themselves licking it at the grocery store before placing it back in the freezer. It was first posted to Taquan's Instagram and then deleted. But they take a lick of this Blue Bunny ice cream and they put it back. But no crime was committed.

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 8:

Let me show y'all, bro.

01:50:40 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 2:

This is the, by the way, I saw.

01:50:42 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 8:

This is the ice cream.

01:50:44 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So no facts right now.

01:50:46 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 8:

This is the ice cream that y'all say we did and put back on the show. What? It was our ice cream. It was already paid for.

01:50:52 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 2:

I have audio running of this guy showing you that it was the ice cream. but I forgot that Steve, Misfit Steve, is still on the scene. I'm not seeing now. He's still in there. All right, you can end this.

happening at the zoo yes we got our zoo i don't believe guys we have more animals in this studio

01:52:40 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 2:

this morning for our only fans challenge i like this what what animals did we bring in this time

01:52:46 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 1:

K.P.? Well, we have a centipede here from Africa, you said? Or is it downstairs?

01:52:52 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I've got the millipede here. It's a giant African millipede. No. Absolutely not. The largest species in the world. Oh, yeah, yeah. Okay. Take it out of the box. Very slow. They can have up to 300 legs. This is Henry. Henry has 264

01:53:08 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 7:

legs. Wow. When you name it Henry, it makes me feel better about being two inches from it. It's not so scary.

01:53:14 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 5:

It's not, you know, they're nocturnal typically um but he's really friendly super nice kids love this guy they say it feels kind of like a um like bristles from a hairbrush when he's walking so it seems kind of scary but whoa yeah

01:53:28 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 2:

okay lots of legs on there see now you know what i'm talking about you you know that you know these

01:53:34 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 5:

are just animals i don't know if i want to get that close to uncurling he's walking super slow though they're very nice okay they don't eat people it's okay they don't eat people i bet

01:53:47 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 2:

by the way that's the famous last words that's the all right same thing she said 264 legs which

01:53:53 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 7:

yeah i'm not you are so sweet steve do we have any animals down there that we actually

01:54:00 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

can consider cuddly like the alpacas don't look like they're that dangerous

01:54:04 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 4:

there's a junk it's pretty cuddly are you oh geez okay docile yes um can't hurt you i've had

01:54:11 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 2:

pet tarantula since i was 14 years old really why what's what was the reasoning my mom always

01:54:17 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 5:

wanted to know that too why is it bugs why not kittens or puppies so but your mom had control she could have said no to it right so my grandma was a grade school teacher and she had a pet tarantula she took me to michigan state university to the bug house i met an entomologist there who let me hold my first tarantula and after that it was just done and even as an adult with my own four kids like I've never stopped loving bugs so that's why was it ever hard for you dating did you ever like have issues with that people thought it was kind of weird but thankfully my husband um he he lets me I'm not allowed to have snakes in the house but he has allowed all of the

01:54:52 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

bugs that I have for did he think you were like kinky or something because you had these animals and he thought she's gonna be great in bed

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

I think so.

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 2:

Because that's honestly what I would think I would think to myself, oh, tarantula girl Who knows what she likes to do, you know what I mean? Let's find out

01:55:06 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

Not tons of girls are into it They're definitely getting more into the hobby There's a lot of girls that are kind of making it fun I've got a little jumping spider here too If you look at this It's got a little tire swing

01:55:19 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 2:

She brought in a tire swing And a slide

01:55:22 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 1:

And a slide made from Legos Jumping spiders are kind of all the rage Lots of girls that get into this tarantula and spider hobby are making these enclosures really cute, and they're becoming actually popular. Megan, you would love this. No, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.

01:55:36 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 2:

I like the tire swing. Can you do me a favor? Can you cage that thing back up, please? We've said that to listeners before when they've come in studio. So who else do we have there in the studio? We got any other animals here? No, these guys are the people from the Living Learning. That was nice of them. By the way, what a nice event that they got coming up, and it sold out. They brought in, what is that thing right there? This is a rabbit. What was your name again? I apologize. Tim? Jim. I'm sorry, Jim. Jim gave me money for Make-A-Wish and then said, hey, in turn for that, will you give a plug on the radio for this event? And you were so nice to do it. We're giving you a plug, and we'll hopefully maybe give you some cash, too, at this OnlyFans Challenge, too.

01:56:17 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 4:

We actually brought you some socks that were made from the...

01:56:21 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, from the alpacas. That is so neat.

01:56:23 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 2:

Who's watching the alpacas while you guys are up here?

01:56:25 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 4:

And we actually also have a candle and some soaps and honey from our bees.

01:56:30 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

Misfit Steve, are you watching the alpacas? Because the alpacas are on their own right now.

01:56:34 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 4:

The alpacas are watching me.

01:56:36 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

They are? Okay. Well, that's nice of you guys. How has the skunk behaved compared to the alpacas and stuff? Has the skunk had any issues? The skunk's still downstairs. But do the animals intermix with each other? Or do they look at each other like, why are you here? They're good?

01:56:54 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we, our rabbits and chickens and alpaca all get along marvelously.

01:56:58 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 2:

What do the neighbors in Northville, the nice neighbors in Northville that live right by you guys, think when they start hearing weird noises in the middle of the night? They love it. They're so happy about what we do. Are they? Oh, my God, they've been wonderful. That's nice. You could never do that near Birmingham. They would complain. There'd be an ordinance problem. They would probably, there'd be somebody complaining about it, saying, on their Facebook group, neighborhood group. But are you going to go up to the neighbor that has the skunk and be like, hey, what are you doing over here? Right, exactly. You're going to go, no, no, I'm not going to mess with that. Although the skunk, real quick, Misfit Steve, will you get to the skunk lady and ask the skunk lady what town she lives in? I want to know about what town you can have a pet skunk in.

01:57:37 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 4:

Steve? Oh, sorry. What's up, Mojo?

01:57:41 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 2:

Ask, what are you doing? What were you doing that you weren't paying attention?

01:57:45 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, Tony Tervato, our boss, just came in. Oh, no. Are we in trouble? No, he was admiring the alpacas, and then I told him about the skunk, and then he gave me a little worried face. Oh.

01:57:58 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 2:

Is he weirded out that we're having all these people, like, in the building?

01:58:03 - 01:58:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't. I mean, it's fine, right?

01:58:07 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Okay. It's on you, Steve. If they call for a meeting, you're going to it afterwards. Oh, come on. Ask the skunk lady where she's from.

01:58:18 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, one second. Okay.

01:58:20 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, hold on a second. Tony's got a bunch of animals. He probably gets it. Tony lives on a zoo himself in Milford. Where are you from?

01:58:31 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, are you there?

01:58:32 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:58:32 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 4:

She said she's from Sterling Heights. Would you like to talk to her?

01:58:35 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Put her on the phone.

01:58:39 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 3:

Bring him up.

01:58:40 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how you doing?

01:58:42 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 3:

Good. Do you want me to bring him up?

01:58:43 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 2:

You know what?

01:58:45 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Let's bring him up.

01:58:46 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 2:

You've got to see him. Come on, everybody come up. Anybody and everybody.

01:58:50 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 1:

It's 10,000 degrees in here, but the more the merrier.

01:58:53 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 2:

By the way, let me ask these people that are here in the studio. Is this the natural habitat of what these animals, this heat? This heat is perfect.

01:59:05 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, he's walking on the tile right now, and his feet are slipping underneath him.

01:59:09 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

01:59:09 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Tony's petting him right now.

01:59:12 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 2:

Tony, our boss, he's kind of a skunk. hey what tell me with the skunk what will make the spunk the skunk spray because i want to send you over to alicia bailey's desk i want to see just kidding alicia throw him up there he might no no don't just don't have it spray in the office because honestly we've already gotten too many bad memos about what we do in our bathrooms here at the radio station okay

01:59:42 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Yikes. Okay. Well, he's already gone to the bathroom down here. I'm sure it's stinky.

01:59:46 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 2:

All right. Do me a favor, will you? Will you bring it up here and just get it towards the studio? Do we have time? Yeah. I got a break in a couple here.

01:59:56 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah. I'm on my way up. Bring him on up.

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Go through the elevator, maybe.

02:00:00 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

I just want to see a skunk in the elevator. Come up, too, with it, Steve. Okay? Misfit Steve? What's up, Mojo? Come up with the skunk and the Facebook Live.

02:00:13 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 1:

Sounds good.

02:00:14 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 3:

All right. Come on up real quick.

02:00:16 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the little hedgehog? Look at this one.

02:00:19 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Let's see. Oh, we got a hedgehog here. Oh, who's this? It's like a young kid. Is this their pet? Look at how cute. What's your name? I go right into the microphone. Piper? Yeah. And who's mommy there? What's mommy's? Mommy?

02:00:33 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 4:

Sarah.

02:00:34 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Sarah. You let her have a hedgehog?

02:00:36 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 4:

Well, he was my son's, and then he turned too much time, and so we took him on. Okay. And now he's my daughter and I, and we take care of him. Okay. His name is Prickles Malone. Prickles Malone.

02:00:52 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 3:

Is he related at all the post Malone?

02:00:54 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know, could be.

02:00:55 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know. Prickles. um that is so sweet oh my gosh oh he's prickly yeah very okay so this only fans challenge for the listeners that are tuning in going why are they just randomly having all these weird animals come in it's our challenge week number three and this is it by the way because we're all out of money but it was to have you bring in any animal other than a dog or a cat that you have in your home and we would do a petting zoo with it. And the only way you can bring your dog and your cat is if your dog looked like a cat or cat looked like a dog or identified as one. And we would give you an opportunity to win cash and we got the money and I think that the skunk is right outside the studio. So welcome the skunk in the studio. Here we go. Alright, we're going in. Are we walking in here, Steve? Is this the skunk? A skunk in our studio. Isn't this great on Facebook Live? Oh my god.

02:01:51 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Megan encouraged the skunk going into the studio while she sits in a different studio. Exactly, Mike. Exactly.

02:01:59 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 3:

So that skunk looks like a heavy skunk. He's a big boy. What are you feeding that skunk? Because I've never seen a skunk that big.

02:02:06 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 4:

Anything. He won't eat anything healthy.

02:02:09 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. So what's the skunk's favorite thing? Like Buddy's Pizza or?

02:02:13 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Eggs.

02:02:13 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Eggs. Well, that sounds kind of healthy. What do you mix with your eggs that's making it unhealthy?

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 1:

Cheese, probably.

02:02:19 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez.

02:02:20 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 1:

Stop the cheese. I am dying that you're just holding them like a baby.

02:02:24 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 3:

This is insane that we did this thing today. All right. We got to pick a winner. So we're going to have to come pick a winner here coming up here in a second. I want you guys just to stick around for just a little bit and we'll try to narrow it down. I don't know how we do that. Guys, you guys all got to have like a vote and we'll make it coming up here in a second. Hang on one second. Okay, guys? Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.

02:02:47 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 2:

02:03:45 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 3:

It's smiling at you Oh my gosh All right, so we have everybody here in the studio So everybody's in for our Mojo in the Morning Petting Zoo OnlyFans Petting Zoo Who's the crocodile guy? Because, you know, I saw you over there With that goofy smile on your face And I thought to myself, I'm like This guy is the crocodile guy Because you're the guy I always see on the news Every time I always hear about The guy with the crocodile in their house, I look at it, and they go to Maura McDonald over at Channel 4, and she goes, a man from East Point has a crocodile in his house. And then they show the picture of you, and it's, like, your picture from, like, high school or something. You're not from East Point, are you?

02:04:27 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not.

02:04:28 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 3:

Nice to have you here. Look at that crocodile. Where did you find that thing at?

02:04:31 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 2:

Believe it or not, I found it down in Florida.

02:04:33 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you did? By the way, I think Karen Drew from Local 4 did stories about you. Did you ever see those stories where she was talking about people illegally buying crocodiles?

02:04:41 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 2:

I think you're starting to ask too many questions. Oh, man.

02:04:46 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. Now, is it truly smiling or is that like I'm going to bite you?

02:04:52 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

He's having a great time right now, so I would assume he's smiling.

02:04:55 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

He is. What's his name? His name's Toothy. Toothy. Toothy.

02:05:00 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 3:

We've got great names.

02:05:01 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 4:

He's kind of cute.

02:05:01 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Mike was going to ask you a question that I know I was the same one I was going to ask, too. Go ahead, Mike. How can you tell he's having a great time? Yeah, how do you tell if a crocodile is having a great time? When he's not biting you?

02:05:12 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he's not biting and he's not hissing.

02:05:14 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. They hiss.

02:05:15 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 5:

That his goes on.

02:05:18 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 3:

Really? What's the mating call sound like? Can you give me an example of what it sounds like? Yes.

02:05:25 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm not really good at imitating a sound. It's like a...

02:05:28 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 4:

What's up, girl?

02:05:30 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 5:

It's actually a call for his mother. Is that what it is? Yeah, baby crocodiles will call for their mother, basically, if they feel endangered, if they don't feel safe.

02:05:38 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

So he was looking for his mom. And it's Mother's Day weekend. On Mother's Day weekend, we've got to figure that out. Do you feel bad having this thing, or is there a point? You're not going to, like, when this thing gets to a point, you can't take care of it. You're not going to just, like, let it go in the field behind your house, are you?

02:05:53 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 5:

No, no. I have a sanctuary that I have planned out for them. I'm going to donate them and donate money to them as well. and then I'll be able to go out and see him whenever I want. He'll be tagged. Basically, I'll be able to find out where he is in the park.

02:06:07 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 3:

Hold on.

02:06:07 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 5:

Maura McDonald would like to ask one more question.

02:06:09 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Excuse me. Are you sure you're not just pulling our leg?

02:06:13 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I'm not.

02:06:14 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. I could never. Do me a favor.

02:06:17 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 5:

I try to give him the best life possible.

02:06:18 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell you what. Here's the deal. When you get arrested for this crocodile, when it happens and you're on the news, do an exclusive interview no matter what your lawyer says, And during the interview, just like on Howard Stern Show, they do Baba Booey. If you just say mojo in the morning during the middle of the thing, I will put money towards your bail to get you out of jail.

02:06:38 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate that. I definitely will. All right.

02:06:41 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 3:

You just got to give us a shout out during the live interview that you have. All right. So here's the deal, guys. We got to come up with a winner for this whole thing. So just to make sure we get all the animals in here. Well, where's the other two that I didn't get a chance to? Stingray right there. Oh, my God. That's actually one. And honestly, that's one of the ones that I was contemplating. That's a good vote. That's a really good vote. And what's the other one? The Sugar Gliders. The Sugar Gliders. And then Bug Lady. Okay, and then Bug Lady. Where's Bug Lady at? She had to go. She had to leave? Okay. And then we have the Alpacas, which couldn't come up in the studio with us because we have a landlord problem. Let's just put it that way. You guys might have that, too, in some of your homes.

02:07:21 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Pickles Malone behind me.

02:07:22 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 3:

Pickles Malone, all that stuff. Pickles. All right. Hit it right. All right.

02:07:26 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 1:

Put some respect on it.

02:07:27 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 3:

So everybody that's here has a vote. Shannon, Mike, Megan, KP, Lydia. All right? Okay. I would like to do my vote possibly last, maybe as a deciding factor.

02:07:41 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.

02:07:42 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 3:

All right. Shannon, vote number one.

02:07:44 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 1:

My vote is for the skunk that I am very weirdly obsessed with over here.

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. Skunk's got one vote.

02:07:50 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 4:

Mike? Honestly, that's what I was going with, too. That's the risk factor of the skunk is why I like it.

02:07:58 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, we've got two for the skunk.

02:08:00 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Megan?

02:08:01 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Those guys are wrong. I think we have to be in awe and wonder of somebody who brought us a portable tank for a Stingray, you guys.

02:08:09 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 3:

That's unbelievable. I know. The Stingray is good. KP, we've got a two-to-one margin right now. Stingray has one. Skunk has two. Go ahead.

02:08:18 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 4:

I'm from Tampa, so I'm going with the Gator.

02:08:21 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Wow, Gator. We're all over the place. Gator got one. Lydia, who you choose?

02:08:27 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 2:

I choose the skunk.

02:08:28 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 3:

Skunk gets three. Doesn't make a difference on my vote. Skunk wins. That's your vote, though. I'm curious. I honestly, that guy right there looks like a guy that's going to need the money for when he gets in jail for having the alligator. So I was going to do the gator, too. Skunk is the winner. I'm going to be close second for the jail. I don't know. Yes. Skunk is the winner. Congratulations to you.

02:08:50 - 02:08:50 | Unknown:

Woo-hoo.

02:08:51 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 3:

She's also a nurse, by the way. Oh, my God. Oh, happy Nurses Week. And again, tell our listeners how you got a skunk to be a pet of yours.

02:08:58 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 2:

One of my girlfriends at work lives in Armada, and the mom skunk was eating her chicken eggs. So she relocated the chicken. Yeah.

02:09:08 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Talk right in that microphone. The skunk mom. Yeah.

02:09:11 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 2:

And babies started popping up like a week later.

02:09:15 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:09:15 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 2:

And they were all starving.

02:09:16 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 3:

So they looked for homes.

02:09:18 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 2:

It was the only one that survived.

02:09:19 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 3:

Instead of just letting the thing go? Like, wouldn't it have survived? No. No?

02:09:24 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 2:

He had his eyes closed. Really? Beers closed, no hair.

02:09:28 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Oh, look it. That skunk is, by the way, one of the prettiest things ever.

02:09:32 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 2:

You won. Yeah, yeah.

02:09:34 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 3:

No need to spray. You may leave the studio right now with your $500. $500 OnlyFans Challenge. All you guys are great. We love all of you guys. I hope that you guys had fun. Did everybody have fun? 02:10:34 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 1:

Very sweet. Thank you. That head talk's real cute.

02:10:37 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 3:

You're awesome, mom. Thank you, crazy ladies. Notice, by the way, I just want you to know this. Notice that more women were here with animals than men. You guys make us seem like we're insane. Seriously. You all are just as insane as we are. Or it's proof that animals are more tolerable than men. Very good point

02:11:01 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 1:

You're not supposed to come up with

02:11:05 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

Jokes like that I know but it was there Alright Mojo on the morning show So yesterday Shannon did something That she mentioned to us Before the show that I think can be a really good topic The topic is how quick was the quickie

02:11:22 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 2:

The quickiest quickie Is what I said to you guys So Wes and I do not live together yet. Wes is my fiance, and we are waiting to live together until we get married, which is I don't know when. We're kind of in the process of trying to figure that out. So this week, crazy busy for me. It's also crazy busy for Wes. And so when this happens, since we are not living under the same roof, we try to be really intentional about finding little moments of time to at least see each other. So yesterday, I had a therapy appointment out in Rochester. We are very pro-therapy on this show. And that therapist's office was about eight minutes away from his new place. And after therapy, I had about 40 minutes to get back to pick up my son Smith from school. So that left us with like 12 minutes to bake some cookies. After what again? After therapy and before picking up my son from school. So I texted him and I said, we are going to make this happen. I literally ran, I parked my car, I ran into his house. There was a pack of gum open for me on the stairs because I told him I needed to brush my teeth. And he said, we do not have time for that. So he had the gum there open and ready for me to go. I walked through that bedroom door and he was, he was ready. We made it happen.

02:12:48 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Wow. He was laying on the bed waiting for you, huh?

02:12:51 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 1:

We were. You're a dirty girl. Proud of us. I have a question. What? What about therapy just turned you on? Yeah. What was said? Well, I was talking a lot about him in therapy.

02:13:03 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't know. You know, you just do with the time that you get.

02:13:09 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 3:

I have a question.

02:13:10 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Something happened.

02:13:11 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 3:

12 minutes is a quickie? That seems like a long time.

02:13:14 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no.

02:13:15 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 2:

You're misunderstanding. I had 12 minutes. We had 12 minutes of, I'm talking from me parking the car to me getting back in my car.

02:13:23 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

02:13:23 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 2:

So that was the amount, that was the allotted time that we were working with.

02:13:27 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. You got it? So 12 minutes. Okay. So, okay. All right. Now I understand it. Because I was going to say 12 minutes. You know what? I hate that Wes guy. If he's 12 minutes, I want to know what his secret is, right?

02:13:41 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Real quick.

02:13:41 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What'd you do with the other seven minutes? All right. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

02:13:48 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 2:

Tell us about your quickiest quickie.

02:13:50 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't want it to become a situation, though, where you tell us, like, what you guys did. But what I wanted to do was, where were you, what was going on before and what was going on after that you needed to make it a quickie?

02:14:04 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 2:

And maybe you didn't even get to do it in a bedroom.

02:14:08 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:14:08 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 2:

Like, ours was quite legitimate because it was at his house.

02:14:11 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 3:

You actually, and he even left you gum on a pillow or something. On the stairs. On the stairs. That's amazing, by the way. That's like

02:14:18 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 2:

He did not want to waste the two minutes It was going to take me to brush my teeth So the gum was imperative

02:14:24 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Do you have an electric toothbrush there

02:14:26 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 2:

No I have a toothbrush there

02:14:28 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 3:

Tops, bottoms, backs and fourths Wait for the beep to switch sides It's funny because I always feel like No joking about just the quickiness But I always feel like The younger your kids are The more your quickiness has to be And I bet you that this is a thing in Mike and Allie's relationship because you got to figure out that time because the kids could wake up at any moment, right? Oh, yeah, absolutely. We have, I mean, we've done it quick in almost, I don't want to say. say every room in the house because not their bedrooms but we've had to because you you don't know when they're gonna you're gonna hear right and somebody's either knocking at the door or running towards the room we now have we can sense it like like spider-man we can sense if a kid's getting up and which kid's getting up uh to the point where we can stop but we've had to do some

02:15:17 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 2:

quickies i'm always a big believer that you never fix the squeaky and the floor because you want the squeaky and the floor to be your alarm system what's going on trent nothing much about yourself

02:15:28 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 4:

mojo everything's good man what was going on before um we were trying to put down our uh he's seven now but at the time he was four or five but we were trying to put him down for a nap

02:15:38 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 2:

and so you guys decided after you put him down for the nap that you were going to try to get a

02:15:44 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 4:

moment right yeah we had literally i mean we thought we had an hour like two hours but honestly It was probably like three minutes before you woke up and almost caught us, I should say.

02:15:58 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So three minutes was your quickie of quickies. You made it happen. That's a quickie right there. Is it enjoyable for both?

02:16:07 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 4:

Was it enjoyable? Yeah, it was enjoyable. I mean, I can say it was for me. I don't know about that. That's what it is.

02:16:13 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 2:

Jordan, what's going on?

02:16:16 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going? Long time listener. Long time caller. Thank you, man. I appreciate you.

02:16:21 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 2:

And a quickie that happened when you guys were planning a Walmart trip. Is that right?

02:16:28 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we were already, like, grocery shopping. And the girl I was seeing at the time was like, hey, you want to do something, like, fun really quick? So we did right in the Walmart dressing room. But the funny thing after is we got caught.

02:16:45 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. So, wait, by the old guy or old lady that stands in the front of the store and kind of says hello to you?

02:16:52 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 6:

The old lady who is running, like, the dressing room area. What did she say? Nothing until after we were done. She was kind of polite enough. She's like, I didn't want to bother you guys.

02:17:05 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you. Oh, God. That's so polite. That is so nice. Yeah. It's kind that she didn't call the police on you guys. What's up, AJ?

02:17:13 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, good morning.

02:17:14 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. We're talking about quickies. How quick was the quickie?

02:17:19 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 5:

I would at least have to say less than 10 minutes. We pulled over at one of those McDonald's gas station truck stop things. Yes. And she surprised me with, let's go over to the parking lot. So we pulled over to the hotel parking lot and threw a couple articles of clothing up where the visors go to try and hide as much as we could. And that's where the shindig happened.

02:17:41 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Did anybody try to park next to you guys while you guys were doing it?

02:17:45 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 5:

No, but there was some people that walked in front of the car, and there was that gap between the two front seats, and I promise you I made eye contact with a car.

02:17:55 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 2:

I love it. You go for it.

02:17:58 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 5:

Your car is a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'.

02:17:59 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Exactly. I like it. Lisa, what's happening?

02:18:04 - 02:18:04 | Unknown:

Hello.

02:18:05 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe... Turn your radio down, because I want to fully be able to shame you for this.

02:18:10 - 02:18:11 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:18:11 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 2:

Lisa had a quickie after her daughter's birthday party?

02:18:18 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. As the kids are leaving, we were on the back porch. It was raining, and we just did it. You still had children in your home? They were leaving out the front door. We had the back door. Oh, wow. Yes. Yeah. And then it was this other time. If you know what I'm saying.

02:18:34 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's that? Say that last line.

02:18:37 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 7:

This other time, we were in Vegas, and we kind of got kicked out because as we were done, he was standing at the sink and I was finished, you know.

02:18:44 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, yes. All right, well listen, let's go back to the birthday party. Let's go back to the birthday party because the Vegas ones, anytime in Vegas, you're always dirty anyway. What was the theme of your daughter's birthday party?

02:18:56 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 7:

Mickey Mouse. Minnie Mouse, Minnie Mouse, I'm sorry. So we're talking little kids.

02:19:00 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 2:

And you had the decorations still up?

02:19:03 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:19:05 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 2:

02:20:08 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, at a New Year's Eve party as the ball was dropping.

02:20:11 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 4:

Hey, that's what she said. Um, wow. Yeah, I make poor decisions. How about this one? Jessica.

02:20:23 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:20:23 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 4:

We're talking about.

02:20:24 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 1:

I feel guilty now, but at the time I didn't.

02:20:28 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 4:

We're talking about the quickies here because it got brought up because Shannon had a quickie yesterday. Where did you do your quickie?

02:20:38 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 1:

So I hate to fly. I'm a very nervous flyer. So we had a little wine before our flight, and we went in the family bathroom.

02:20:47 - 02:20:47 | Unknown:

Nice.

02:20:49 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 1:

I know we aren't the first or the last to do it, but that's where we did it.

02:20:53 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 4:

You weren't worried at all that your flight was going to start boarding while you guys were doing your thing?

02:20:58 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 1:

honestly i hate to fly that much that i wouldn't have cared if we missed it so i wasn't upset about it at all so it was your way i did get a little yeah i was when after it we had more wine and when i went to get up to get on the plane i actually fell that's how drunk i was so we were worried i wouldn't even get on the plane so yeah that's amazing all's well that ends well

02:21:23 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 4:

were you flying delta was it one of those family bathrooms in that delta terminal

02:21:27 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 1:

You would wish, but no. We fly spirit of the sheep. Oh, yeah. They're all doing it in the bathroom. Yeah.

02:21:36 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. You're not as bad, though, as the birthday mom or this one. This might be the worst of them all. Alias Matt, are you there? Yeah. Matt, where did you have a quickie?

02:21:49 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 3:

After my friend's mom's funeral at the party afterwards in the basement. Oh.

02:21:55 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 2:

In a funeral home basement?

02:21:57 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 3:

Where they embalm the bodies? No, we were at home, at their house, at the party.

02:22:02 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, the party. Like, where everybody gathers together to, like, remember the dead. You know she was watching you from heaven.

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

02:22:13 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 4:

You don't seem like... It doesn't seem like it affects you at all. You're okay with that?

02:22:20 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because all the people there know about it, and I get chased about it all the time.

02:22:24 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Everybody was okay. Perfect scenario. You have sex, and then you get those tiny sandwiches afterwards. That's a good question. I asked what the birthday theme was. What was the food they served at the after party?

02:22:38 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 3:

I went in to get some food, and her girlfriend's top kind of fell off, and she grabbed my hand and took me downstairs.

02:22:46 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait a second. It was while you were getting food. Who would have thought this? So she was not somebody that you were in a relationship with.

02:22:53 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't know her that well at all

02:22:56 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 4:

Matt picked somebody up at the funeral What a place to meet That's great Well, God bless you, Matt

02:23:05 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 3:

It was the killer Kool-Aid

02:23:07 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 4:

What? Say that again

02:23:10 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 3:

Killer Kool-Aid Pull up the recipe and make it It's good Oh, so you were drunk

02:23:17 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 4:

Can I take you off voice disguise? Because your voice disguise are so tough Because you got like a cigarette voice

02:23:22 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh no no no I can't

02:23:25 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 4:

Do you smoke cigarettes because you got a cigarette voice And it doesn't work on voice disguiser

02:23:29 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I do

02:23:31 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm listening going Okay I can't I can't talk right now because I got the cigarette voice Going on and I'm like it doesn't work on the I miss Alright well thank you for the call Take care of yourself Alright bye Alright bye Shannon, what do you got in this hour's dirty?

02:23:57 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so first, these videos of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Everybody's talking about, like, is something bad going on? Are they on the rocks? There are two different videos I'm going to talk about. The first one, it starts off very normal. They're somewhere in L.A. walking towards the car. Once they get to the car, Ben, being the gentleman he is, opens the door for his wife. But the moment that J-Lo is in her seat, in the passenger seat, Ben swings the door closed and then swung up his arm. And he walked around to the driver's side of the vehicle. And as he did, he looked like he was in a bad mood. And when he slammed that door, he slammed her door. So fans have a variety of interpretations about that now viral video. Some think that he was pissed off at Jen. While others say no, he just looks annoyed at the paparazzi because there's tons of paparazzi that are filming them. But timing is everything here because that video comes just hours after Ben and Jen appeared real tense with each other at a movie premiere where she was like pointing at him and talking very sternly in his face and he looked. Kind of miffed. The Daily Mail got a lip reader to interpret what was being said at that point. And I guess the discussion was about J-Lo asking Ben if her top was showing too much. She was wearing kind of like a low-cut top. And he told her it was fine. He told her, don't worry, babe. So it didn't seem like there was anything going on there. But the car door thing, I don't know.

02:25:20 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 4:

The car door, he just looks... He looks... He looks miffed. Visually upset.

02:25:25 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah.

02:25:26 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:25:27 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 2:

Big dirty story in the country world right now. and it has to do with country singer Jimmy Allen. His former manager is suing him for assault and sexual abuse. This coming just weeks after Jimmy announced he was separating from his wife, Alexis. I don't know this guy.

02:25:44 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 4:

Is this somebody I should know?

02:25:46 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 2:

He's a pretty big country artist. So yesterday, this lawsuit was filed. The manager will only identify herself as Jane Doe at the moment. But she listed several instances where Jimmy allegedly forced himself onto her and abused her. A rape, she alleges, happened during a March 2021 work trip to L.A. When Jimmy was filming an episode of American Idol, she claimed she woke up naked in her hotel room with severe pain, some bleeding down there after a business dinner, and she didn't remember what had happened. um she said she said felt a sense of a panic um there she also recalled another instance in may of 2021 when jimmy was making a visit to the ellen degenera show to promote his children's book and she said the day leading up to that appearance he allegedly assaulted her as they were traveling together he groped her breasts on the plane pushed himself against her and then pleasured himself in front of her at the hotel where they were both saying so these are just a few of a handful of allegations that this former manager is making so we're going to keep our eye on that story because that seems to be it's going to be a big one speaking of country music the 58th academy of country music the acm awards went down last night laney wilson was the big winner of the night three wins including album of the year chris stapleton taking home the coveted entertainer of the year award, Ed Sheeran, making a surprise appearance to perform his new song, Life Goes On, with Luke Combs.

02:27:23 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 4:

I always like when they bring our artists over to go sing with them.

02:27:30 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 2:

And Ed actually said in an interview that he did yesterday that he's a country music fan and he might transition into country.

02:27:37 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 3:

There's a radio station in England called Chris Country, which is like England's country radio station. That's the radio station me and my wife have on in the house the entire time. She's, like, obsessed with country music like I am. I need to get some boots. Oh, you can't be leaving us now.

02:27:50 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 4:

We don't want that happening.

02:27:53 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 2:

I'd listen to him either way. You know what? Whatever kind of music he was performing.

02:27:57 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 4:

But we got to, like, we got to have something of our own. You know what I mean? Like, we can't be doing all that stuff. I was going through all sorts of speech.

02:28:04 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was going to say, Ed was also doing an interview yesterday where he was talking about, I think I knew this, but maybe you didn't know this. He had a bad stutter when he was a little kid. And you know what helped him with that stutter was rapping along to Eminem songs. Really? Yeah.

02:28:19 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 3:

I was going through all sorts of speech therapy. And when I was nine, my uncle bought me the Marshall Mathers LP. And he just said to my dad, this guy's the next Bob Dylan. You got to let him listen. And by learning that record and rapping it back to back to back to back, it cured my stutter. And I stopped, you know, talking like that.

02:28:37 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 2:

He's rapped Eminem songs at some of his shows, hasn't he?

02:28:39 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:28:39 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 2:

I feel like we played that before.

02:28:41 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 4:

Remember when we did the interview with him where we had him with the teddy bear?

02:28:45 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 2:

The teddy bear, yeah.

02:28:46 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 4:

He actually just came from doing a song with Eminem that ended up not being that much of a hit.

02:28:51 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I was going to say, he's become friends with Marshall since this all happened.

02:28:55 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 3:

Years later, I've made songs with Eminem now, and we've got to know each other quite well, and he asked me to play Stan with him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Do you want to go and do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? And it was on, like, my day off from shooting the music videos, and I was like, I can't say no. I can't. So I got a plane straight after one music video, flew there, sung, and then that night flew back, and it was really worth it.

02:29:17 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hold on. What is that song? I'm trying to find it right now. I don't remember the name of it. I don't know.

02:29:21 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 2:

While you're looking for it, I want to say congratulations to Eminem's daughter, Haley, by the way, who had her engagement party at Chynol Hotel this week. It looked beautiful. There you go. She was sharing on Instagram.

02:29:30 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 4:

She did. She got married.

02:29:31 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 2:

No, she didn't get married. It was her engagement party. Oh, okay.

02:29:34 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 4:

I always thought that my son Joe was going to marry her back then. And then Eminem would have to put up with me As being an in-law

02:29:41 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, it feels like Romeo and Juliet

02:29:43 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he would have disowned her If she did that

02:29:47 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was okay

02:29:53 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 4:

Alright, I'm sorry Yeah, it was just okay

02:29:56 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, clearing up a story That I think we talked about

02:30:00 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Talked about yesterday, Tom Cruise having the hots for Shakira after they met at the F1 Miami Grand Prix this week. So the story was that he had, like, sent her flowers. His people were trying to, like, make this date or this relationship happen. Well, she is not interested in Tom Cruise. She is very interested in F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who's, like, a notorious playboy, by the way. But they were spotted hanging out on a boat in Miami. She has no interest. in Tom Cruise, so that's not

02:30:32 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 4:

going to happen. Good. We love to see it.

02:30:34 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 2:

We don't want her having to go over and do the whole thing that Katie Holmes did that kept Katie from her family for that long

02:30:42 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 4:

of a time, right? Exactly. When you said sent her flowers, I'm like, and a brochure for Scientology.

02:30:49 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, got to send a huge shout out. Thank you to the Daxton Hotel that are housing us tonight for the Naughty Moms Night Out. They are such good people. I do have to specifically say to the people over at the Daxton Hotel, Josh Griffin. And I've never met the owner of the place, But he's this like really wealthy guy Like Daddy Warbucks His name is Mark Mitchell I think his name is or something Which I thought at first I'd go Mark Mitchell He was our production guy Here at the radio station Where did he get all this money To be able to do this whole thing It's the wrong Mark Mitchell Yeah I think we go from one end of the spectrum To the other But if the other Mark Mitchell The production guy Mark Mitchell One of my favorite people in the world Is listening He might be your brother You should see if he is And maybe get a couple of dollars from him Or something But we gotta thank them so much Josh, by the way, was amazing. I love this guy so much. So a huge thank you to you for letting us be part of this whole thing and do the Naughty Moms Night Out there. Thank you to our listeners that are part of this, too. And thank you to Lydia, who last night went and decorated the room. It looks amazing.

02:32:17 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

It does look amazing.

02:32:19 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 2:

She decorated the room for Naughty Moms Night Out. Actually, rooms, because it's going to be in the parlors. They have them in their parlors. Sounds so fancy. It's going to be a fancy. It's going to be a little fanciness But honestly, if it's as hot as it is right now I'm wearing shorts tonight I'll dress these shorts if I have to But I'm contemplating either wearing Like what I normally would wear Which is the Chaldean guys outfit Of jeans and a black polo shirt Or I'm getting I'm putting on the full on You know, country club shorts And I'm going to be doing that Because it's going to be hot

02:32:51 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 4:

Lucky for us, the Dexon has pretty good air conditioning

02:32:53 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 2:

You don't want me wearing shorts You don't want me showing off my legs? Is that right? Okay. If I have to wear anything, I have to wear my funeral or wedding outfits. You know, that's all I have that's fancy. I'm not a big fancy dresser, Lydia. But we have to thank Lydia for what she did, but also bring Lydia in the studio here for a second. And we have to pose a question to our listeners. how many of our listeners still have the mixtape that the person that they were in a relationship made for them that is no longer in a relationship with you right now do you still hold on to the mixtape or in this case it's the digital mixtape is is this on iphone right yeah it's on uh apple

02:33:38 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 4:

music he made you an apple music playlist right yeah so there was um a guy i've dated he used to make me playlists and i got caught up in uh having these said playlists because yesterday gas station guy so kindly came with me to um decorate the daxton for tonight's naughty mom's night oh what a sweetie yeah it was really nice it was super nice of him too because he was blowing up most of the balloons and tying them we just had to put them together i'm liking this guy yeah he has a good heart so but on our way there he decided he was he was gonna play with my car play and uh he was looking through my music and I was pretty hesitant I kept telling him to stop and I was actually swerving because I was so paranoid and he was like what is there what is it that you're hiding I'm gonna keep looking so he's looking through and he scrolls down and all of a sudden he sees an ex-boyfriend's name in my playlist like one of my playlist lists and i was like oh my gosh please don't click that and you could see the guy's name on there and he's like you still listen to these and i'm like i sure do i mean they're it's good music and i'm gonna say a good

02:34:50 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

playlist is a good playlist who cares who created it no no no first off we got a support gas station guy he helped blow up balloons for this promotion

02:35:00 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 1:

We're so understaffed, we're calling upon your significant other to go and help us with this. But I think that if the songs are good songs, you just have to remake a playlist. You cannot keep them in the playlist of said ex-boyfriend. Well, maybe just rename it. First off, what songs were in there? Let me judge if it was really good music.

02:35:21 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 4:

It's like Big Sean, Frank Ocean, some Calvin Harris in there.

02:35:26 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:35:27 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 4:

So there weren't, like, lovey-dovey songs.

02:35:30 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 3:

No. Maybe just one or two.

02:35:32 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there was a few of them. Okay. Maybe five, six. Well, and then there was a little bit of Sexy Can I with Ray J, so.

02:35:39 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 1:

All right. Did he ask you if he could listen to the playlist to see what was in there, or did he want to know? Because I would want.

02:35:46 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 4:

He wanted nothing to do with it after that. He was a little upset. Yeah?

02:35:50 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 2:

Can you take now these songs from this playlist and put them into a new playlist, or do they have to be gone forever?

02:35:55 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 4:

You can duplicate them. So Apple Music gives you the access to duplicating them. I just didn't do that.

02:36:03 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Does Gas Station Guy have as good of musical taste as that past boyfriend?

02:36:08 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

No. I'm so sorry, Gas Station Guy. He just doesn't.

02:36:12 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 1:

What kind of music does he listen to?

02:36:14 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 4:

He listens to a lot of Arabic boater music. I'm the one who makes our playlists. And I asked him, I said, why don't you make us a playlist? And he's like, do you think I have time for that?

02:36:25 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 2:

That's such an oddly specific play. Arabic boater music. What is that exactly?

02:36:30 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 4:

That is what Mojo's playing right now.

02:36:33 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 3:

But honestly, I like that.

02:36:36 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 1:

So this is what your playlist would consist of if gas station guy was making it? Oh, this is fun.

02:36:43 - 02:36:45 | Speaker 4:

It's pretty fun music.

02:36:45 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so here's the question. If you break up with someone, do you have to get rid of the mixtape that they made for you if you get into a new relationship? I agree with you that this is a little too much intimacy. This is like saving, I don't know, sexy clothes that they bought for you.

02:37:06 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 3:

I want to go back and find my CDs that, like, ex-boyfriends would burn for me. Little Savage Garden, Truly Metly Deeply on there.

02:37:14 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Really, you would have guys that would make you these things?

02:37:18 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 3:

All the time.

02:37:19 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 1:

And they would put the songs. I mean, boyfriends. Was it the songs of the time that they were making, or were these just random songs?

02:37:24 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 3:

I know I've saved them all I have them all They're probably at my mom's house

02:37:36 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 2:

Amanda, how you doing?

02:37:46 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you? Good

02:37:47 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 1:

We're good, we're talking Have you met Lydia ever? Or had a chance to talk to her?

02:37:51 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 5:

No, I have not

02:37:52 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 1:

Say hi to Lydia She is the person who answers the phones here When you call Mojo in the morning

02:37:57 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi Lydia Hi Amanda

02:37:59 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 1:

Amanda tell us what do you think

02:38:03 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 5:

Have you guys Are you familiar with the show Friends Where Janice had gifted Chandler A mixtape and he gave it to Monica Because he forgot to get her a valentine's gift

02:38:13 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh I do remember that episode

02:38:17 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 5:

Yes This is giving me those vibes Yeah

02:38:20 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 1:

yeah wait does it well no i guess in apple music you really can't like do uh voice stuff right

02:38:28 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 4:

it's not like one of those add like voice recordings you can and you can actually put them in the actual like your playlist i think you can um i didn't know that you could do that

02:38:37 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 1:

that's interesting what do you think though do you think she needs to delete it since she's no

02:38:41 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 5:

longer with this guy i yeah definitely if you want to see a feature of someone else because what if there is something that he slipped in there and you didn't go through it first?

02:38:51 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:38:51 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 5:

It would be weird.

02:38:53 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that would be weird. How would you like to have that mixtape on and not have known that that mixtape was made by a guy that had already been with the girl that you're with? You know what I mean? Like, if you're a guy, like, Mike, what would you do if Allie still had a mixtape from whoever she dated before she was dating the Sexy Mexie?

02:39:10 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

Max, if Max popped up and he was like, hey, girl, because I assume, I've never met him, but I assume he has a deeper voice than me. I never heard about Max. You've never mentioned Max's name before Because I don't, does Max ain't in the

02:39:20 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 1:

Where is Max at these days? Is he living in Grand Rapids still?

02:39:24 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't know I genuinely don't She met him in high school And it was like the last One of the last guys she dated before we started dating

02:39:31 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 1:

So what if Max had a mixtape for Allie And you are, you know Just sitting there listening to music on her phone That's piped through on a, you know A little Bose speaker and all of a sudden the song comes on and Allie instantly remembers Max with that.

02:39:50 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I would immediately look at her face when the song played because it's going to go one of two things. She's either going to get very angry and upset and go to change it really quick or she's going to go...

02:40:00 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 4:

go to a special place, a nostalgic place that that song brings her to, and I would be crushed forever.

02:40:05 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 3:

It would ruin that song for me forever. See, that's what you got to think about with gas station guy here. We got to think about the fact that this poor guy just got done setting up a room full of balloons for a promotion, and Lydia still has it. Can I go through some of mine real quick?

02:40:21 - 02:40:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:40:22 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to hear? So I'm looking at mine. I made Chelsea one the other day.

02:40:27 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

You did?

02:40:27 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I made her one the other day.

02:40:30 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 1:

That's really sweet.

02:40:31 - 02:40:39 | Speaker 3:

And I had, this was one of the songs that's on here. Okay. Do you know this song? This is Chelsea's Liz. You don't know this song?

02:40:40 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes, I do. Sorry. Yeah, yeah.

02:40:42 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 3:

This is the...

02:40:43 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 1:

It took me a second. Sorry.

02:40:44 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 3:

The artist known as Adele, Mike. This was, I believe, one of the first top 40 songs that she had. Very, very nice.

02:40:53 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 5:

Alright, we don't need to listen to that anymore

02:41:05 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 4:

Is this the I Love You mix? Is this the I Screwed Up mix? Is this the Sexy Time mix?

02:41:09 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 3:

This is how much you mean to me and you've been part of my life for a long time

02:41:13 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 4:

This is Slow Dancing in the Kitchen

02:41:15 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes This is

02:41:17 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 4:

To make me feel my love

02:41:20 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 1:

Don't sing it Just hold it

02:41:22 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 3:

All right, so I got that song on there. I also have, ready for this one? Here, this one's on here, too. Oh, yeah. I love this song. I love this song, too. That's a good one. See, I'm a sexy guy. You could be in a relationship with me, Megan, and I would make this one.

02:41:37 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 7:

I would have to go. I know. I took my love, took it down.

02:41:44 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. If I knew that I could actually put voice recordings in there now that that caller just said that, or Lydia said that we could do that. I'd be like, hey, Chelsea. Actually, you know what I would do? Honestly, it would be me going, channel 955. How you doing, Chelsea? What's going on? See if you can hit the post. I'm sorry. And I would put our stations like deep voice guy going, mojo, mixtape.

02:42:15 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 7:

Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I hatch all the seasons of my life?

02:42:29 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 3:

Taryn, hi. What's going on? Hey, would you be upset if your girl had a mixtape from her ex?

02:42:39 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I might feel some type of way, but I was just going to say, why don't you just rename the playlist?

02:42:44 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, somebody suggested that, but is renaming it really the thing to do? He already knows about it now. You can't do that now. It's like putting the toothpaste back in the tube, right?

02:42:56 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 6:

Right, yeah. I get that, yeah.

02:42:59 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that... Wait, are you in a relationship right now, Taryn?

02:43:02 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely.

02:43:03 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that your girl has anything of her ex or exes that you just don't know about?

02:43:10 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God, no.

02:43:12 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 3:

You better look around. I'm telling you, they all keep it.

02:43:16 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 6:

They all keep it. Yeah. Oh, actually, my fiancée, she does keep a creeper box is what she calls it. And she does. I guess she does. Yeah. A creeper box. Yeah, her little things like her exes gave her or, like, stuff from our son.

02:43:33 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:43:33 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 6:

That he made in school. And, like, she just keeps all of them.

02:43:36 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait, she's got stuff your son made in school with the stuff from her exes in there. No. Why does she got them combined?

02:43:43 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 1:

It's stuff that means something to her. You know what I mean? Yeah. Is she just trying to hide it? Like, that's her hiding spot then? No, it's just her teeth face. Oh, okay. Yeah.

02:43:54 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 3:

I find it interesting. It's stuff that means something to her, like the things from her ex. Rachel, what's up?

02:43:59 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. Good morning.

02:44:00 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:44:02 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted to say, Lydia should, if she really likes the song, just add it to a different playlist.

02:44:08 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was... Maybe, you know. But do you think it's bad to keep that stuff, like to keep the actual playlist name?

02:44:13 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I have some of my exes, but I don't know.

02:44:20 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know that you can move a song over.

02:44:22 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 5:

Maybe change the name.

02:44:23 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't know that you can move a song over either, because once you have that feeling with that song, with that person, you can't change it to somebody else.

02:44:30 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's true. That does make sense.

02:44:32 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 3:

Do you think of your exes when you're listening to those music?

02:44:35 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 1:

Let's not answer that. But honestly, I don't think that that's a bad thing. Like, who doesn't? Music always reminds you of a time or person or place in your life, right?

02:44:44 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

You can't help that. Holly, what's going on?

02:44:46 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Mojo, you need to be, like, magical and make Kelsey a quiet storm playlist. Remember, like, the quiet storm?

02:44:56 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, like the radio show that used to be on? Yeah. Yeah, that was really cool.

02:45:00 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 2:

i thought about doing that and like you know putting some of her favorites in there like maybe i'll do that you know what we should we should do as a bit we should write this down as a bit to do everybody on the show has to make a playlist and it has to be of of to not to your significant other but to us on the show or to a member of the show that we feel like needs to

02:45:20 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 1:

listen to the music oh no you know i could get very serious wouldn't that be awesome like make

02:45:26 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 2:

a playlist you know to uh shannon uh full of non bad boy band songs what's going on hi jacob

02:45:36 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 4:

We promise you, though, that this is going to be kind of crazy from now until that time as we try to either rest up or try to still set up. So one of the ups is happening. But we are really excited about being able to spend time with the listener that every morning has to deal with their kids screaming, They're work complaining And this hopefully gives you a little bit of sanity So it'll be fun Let loose Happy Mother's Day Happy Mother's Day Shannon

I love my father. We've been spending a lot of time together the past couple of weeks.

02:48:19 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 2:

That would be kind of cool. Mike, I saw something cool on your Instagram yesterday. You threw the throwback photo up. Can you explain that to everybody that they can go check it out?

02:48:28 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's an honor, Mike. It is a picture of me and my mom. I took her out to a market or whatever for Mother's Day. She wanted to go to one of those, I think it was Eastern Market. I don't remember exactly where we went, but it's a sign that says, I'm glad we don't have to say out loud that I'm your favorite.

02:48:44 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 2:

That was cool. That was a good post. Happy Mother's Day to you if you are listening, and maybe Sunday is just going to be a rest day. And I can't believe I was talking yesterday to one of the great listeners of ours that I bumped into when I was out and about that said that they're working on Sunday. So she's a nurse at whatever they now call the old Beaumont Hospital. What do they call it?

02:49:09 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 5:

Corwell Health.

02:49:10 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Corwell Health.

02:49:11 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:49:12 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 2:

And they need to do advertising on our station.

02:49:14 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 5:

They do, because it's very confusing.

02:49:16 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 2:

So we know exactly what you're called now. But she is a nurse there, and she's going to be working on Sunday. And she is so sweet. And I said to her, I go, that kind of stinks. And she goes, you know what? She loves her job. So she's got to do it for her kids. So have a great one. We will see you back here Monday morning with lots of stories to tell After our parties, we always have good stories to tell. See you guys tonight. Bye. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
