For adults with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis symptoms, every choice matters. Trimphia offers self-injection or intravenous infusion from the start. Trimphia is administered as injections under the skin or infusions through a vein every four weeks, followed by injections under the skin every four or eight weeks. If your doctor decides that you can self-inject Trimphia, proper training is required. Tremphaya is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease and adults with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. Serious allergic reactions, increased risk of infections or lower ability to fight them, and liver problems may occur. Before treatment, get checked for infections and tuberculosis. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:03:06 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 6:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:03:11 - 00:03:13 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:03:13 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you? Good to have you here. Home of the War of the Roses, the second date update, Dirty Time in the 30s.

00:03:21 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 5:

How are you?

00:03:22 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 6:

How are you? So I want to start off with this, and I want to tell you guys that yesterday was one of those days where I almost had to call, what do they call the people that protect kids?

00:03:37 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 5:

Child Protective Services.

00:03:38 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 6:

Child Protective Services.

00:03:40 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 5:

CPS?

00:03:40 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 6:

I almost had to call CPS on someone. I almost had to call him on Misfit Victor and his wife, Tina.

00:03:47 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. Let me explain. Victor, I can see. Tina?

00:03:50 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 6:

Tina's not as good a mom as you think she is After I tell you this story So last night Chelsea and I are on the phone With Misfit Victor and Tina And they were checking in on me To see how I'm doing And all of a sudden I hear Victor talking to Tina He's like yeah I'm going to put him on the grill And I'm like looking Huh interesting He's going to put something on the grill Now when I tell you why it's interesting I think you all will be raising eyebrows It was 8.30 at night. 8.30 at night, he was putting the dinner on the grill, and they were making the dinner for their family. Now, for those that don't know, because all you hear is Victor and his shenanigans on the radio when he calls in, Victor, Tina have beautiful Albanian children. I love these kids, okay? And all I kept thinking the entire time was, Aren't these kids going to school tomorrow And they're eating dinner at It wouldn't even be 8.30 If they put it on the grill at 8.30 What time is that coming off the grill?

00:04:55 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 7:

I mean Yeah, just a little bit before 9

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

What time do people eat dinner?

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 3:

Listen. What time do you eat dinner?

00:05:02 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

Josiah. What time are you and Josiah getting dinner?

00:05:05 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 3:

This is not the Brady Bunch. 6 p.m. Everyone's around the table holding hands full of plates. 6 p.m. is even late.

00:05:10 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Do his kids play sports? The only reason I ask is because sometimes my kids aren't done until, like, Luce's lacrosse doesn't get done with until 845.

00:05:20 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Damn.

00:05:21 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 1:

So if she's not hungry beforehand when she goes to practice at 630, then we're eating

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 4:

at 9 o'clock. I can understand that.

00:05:29 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 1:

That's very rare.

00:05:31 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 4:

I can understand that if you're out and you're kind of doing things. But usually you're, what, dinner is Jimmy John's or something, right?

00:05:36 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 1:

Or dinners beforehand at, like, 6. I hope not. And then we have a snack at home.

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

I just don't think that 8.30 at night starting dinner. Starting dinner. That's it. Starting dinner.

00:05:45 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

I get what you say. And that's probably not, to Shannon's point, the norm for a good episode. I would hope not. What time do they eat breakfast the next day?

00:05:52 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Like, noon? These kids got it. Hold on. Misfit Victor. Victor, did Lydia call you or did you call in? Were you listening?

00:05:59 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Lydia called me.

00:06:01 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Lydia called. First off, how did you digest that food they ate at 11 o'clock last night?

00:06:08 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

First of all, we were calling a check-in on Chelsea. We weren't calling a check-in on you.

00:06:13 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that, you know, probably truth and nice of you to do that. But I'm not letting you off the hook.

00:06:19 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

We wanted to make sure you guys had enough avocados so you guys didn't get in a fight or anything.

00:06:22 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there you go. First, let me explain this to the listeners, too. They're an Albanian family who own restaurants. The family has restaurants. So it's not like you guys don't know how to cook and how to prepare food. You do for millions. You don't do it for the three children that you have.

00:06:40 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 2:

I just lost track of time. You know, with daylight savings time a few weeks ago and everything else, it's just haven't adjusted yet.

00:06:49 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

Come on. Is that a normal for you guys, or was that late? Like, were the kids, like, normally getting ready for dinner at that time?

00:06:57 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 2:

Like, I got home from work about five, and it was like kinder care in here. My daughter had, like, two or three friends over. My son had two or three friends over. And I walked in, and I was like, who the hell are all these people at my house? It was just like there's kids coming out of the woodworks and everything. I had no idea. I thought I walked in the wrong house at first.

00:07:20 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 4:

And you don't want to feed those kids, right? You didn't get enough steak at Kroger. So he's like, what the hell?

00:07:26 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

No, I'll be honest with you. Like, they're asking, can we eat this? And it is so nerve-wracking. I was kids because a couple of them have food allergies.

00:07:36 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez.

00:07:37 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And I'm like, nope, you can't have this because I don't know what it has in it. And one of them was a box of Godiva chocolates that Tina had gotten for Mother's Day. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, you can't have any of this because I don't know which ones have what. whatever. Honestly, I wouldn't

00:07:54 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 4:

let him eat the Godiva either. That's expensive chocolate. I would, they only get the cheap chocolate, but

00:07:59 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

I... Yeah, like, have some of this X-Lax instead, the X-Lax chocolate. Right.

00:08:04 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. Hold on. Kenyatta's on with us right now. Mojo in the Morning Superstar Kenyatta. We got the Misfit Challenge here. Kenyatta, what time do you guys eat? Last night, we

00:08:14 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

ate about 8.30. Oh, my God.

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

What is up with you guys? Well, Kennedy has

00:08:18 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 1:

a lot of activities. Your daughter, right?

00:08:20 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we had a track meet. No, what did we have last night? Track meet.

00:08:25 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

What's going on with you guys? Between Victor and Tina and Kenyatta here, I'm calling. I'm telling you.

00:08:31 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

She lucky she ate. I should have just sent her to bed hungry.

00:08:35 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Have either of you guys ever not fed your kids before they had to go to bed?

00:08:40 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

I think I forgot one time.

00:08:42 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

She's 16. She can go in there and cook what she want to cook.

00:08:46 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 4:

All right, I understand 16, but Victor, how old are your kids? How old is your oldest, Christian?

00:08:53 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Christian's 14, Gabriel's 10, and Mia's 7.

00:08:56 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 3:

See, the 14 can cook. They're old enough to cook.

00:08:59 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Man.

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 3:

And when you've got older brothers, the 7-year-old basically teeing herself.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My 14-year-old can't even make cereal.

00:09:09 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

I just don't get, like, to me, as a kid, we had to have dinner on the table. And I know Kev's like, ah, the Brady Bunch or whatever the deal is he's going to say. But we ate dinner, and not always as a family, but at least dinner was there. Like, I never had to, although look at me.

00:09:25 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm saying, you ain't mislead on me.

00:09:30 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 4:

But we had six kids in our house, you know what I mean? Like, that's tough to prepare and stuff. And we all played sports, and everybody did all that stuff.

00:09:38 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

So did your parents just make something, put it out? It was there. And then you just, when you were there, you ate?

00:09:42 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 4:

We had sit-down family dinners always on Sundays, but then maybe once or twice during the week if everybody was around, we would have another one. But otherwise, it was basically, it was a... Fend for yourself. It was like a buffet. Yeah.

00:09:54 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

That's when they started making pizza rolls in Hot Pockets, right? Are you hungry? Just go in the freezer and put it together.

00:10:00 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 5:

that's when the air fryer became life it's it's so funny too because of of i i look at uh victor and tina and how how they are amazing parents and they own like they would if i called them and said hey i'm looking for food when they own lulu's they would make sure i and my family were eating at a proper a proper time their kids yeah they fend for themselves it's like what's going on

00:10:24 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 6:

No, but kids nowadays are always snacking, man. My kids are always, and they're snacking on, like, they're walking around with bags of Takis and Hot Cheetos and Hot Cheeto Mac. It's like the worst food ever that they're snacking on. So they're never really that hungry, but I was hungrier than they were. I didn't hear you feeling sorry for me.

00:10:44 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 5:

You know what the problem is? You said you got home like 5.30 or something like that, or however time you got home. You probably stopped off on your way home and ate something, didn't you?

00:10:52 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 6:

no no absolutely not i was i forgot what i was watching on tv oh that's it hold on poncho what

00:11:00 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 5:

time do you eat at let's have all the all the mojo in the morning regulars here tell us what time you eat at i eat about 7 7 30 last night jesus do you guys understand that you guys are up this early in the morning your your food is not digesting

00:11:16 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 6:

yes i am fully aware and i get up at two o'clock to be at work by three

00:11:21 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 2:

you say your food is not digesting but have you ever i've done this for the past two nights i get into bed and then it gets to be like 9 30 and i'm hungry again so then i go downstairs and make something and i eat again right before i fall asleep which i know is the worst thing you

00:11:36 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 5:

can do but i do it all the time see i'm the opposite if i eat dinner at seven o'clock or at 8 o'clock or something like that, I get hungry again before I go to bed. If I eat at 5 or 5.30 or 6, I actually am good. I don't know what the story is. And if I eat really late at night, like Victor's family that eats at, you know, 11.15 or something, I actually will wake up the next morning starving and not be able to figure out exactly why I'm so starving. I don't know. To me, I don't get it. I just sat there and thought to myself, I'm like, you know, I thought that they were good parents, but no, maybe not. I don't know. All right. Well, thanks, you guys, for being on with us. Victor, sorry. I hope that you don't have your kids taken away from you.

00:12:25 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 6:

Mojo? Yes. I'm going to send my kids to live with you for a couple days so they can eat at 430.

00:12:33 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Like they do at the old folks home.

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 6:

By the way, real quick, the show has never sounded better.

00:12:39 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, thank you, buddy. You're the best, Victor. Thank you, Victor. Yes, because you're a moron. Hold on. Crystal, are you there, Crystal?

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How are you?

00:12:50 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on?

00:12:52 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 3:

So Sunday through Thursday, I like to eat dinner between like 6.30 and 7. But on Friday and Saturday, I don't eat until like 9, 10 o'clock at night.

00:13:03 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I get that. You're out. You're doing your thing. You're having fun. I get it. I kind of, you know, I change up a little bit.

00:13:09 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 2:

But even then, when my friends say that they made our dinner reservation for 8.30, I'm going, I don't know if I'm going to be there.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

But I mean, at that point, it might just be hella drinks and then like a little side.

00:13:21 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I hate that the only time that you can get a restaurant reservation at any of the nicer restaurants.

00:13:26 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

Is 4.30 or 10.45. Exactly.

00:13:30 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 5:

It is. Who eats at 10.45? Like, I mean, I don't really love going to a restaurant that much that I'm going to take a 1045 reservation.

00:13:39 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, then you just, you don't eat all day, kind of. You just kind of maybe have a light salad or something super light.

00:13:44 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Crystal, here's what I want to do. Every one of these people that eats at 830 plus at night, I want to see what you guys look like, and I want to weigh you guys. Because I want to know. Because if you guys are all skinny, I'm going to be pissed because they always tell you that you should eat really early. And it's kind of like, I'm telling you, it's like the old lady that lives to 120 and drinks Coca-Cola every single day of her life. All right. I'm trying to do it right and not working. But all right. Thanks for the call. We'll talk to you.

00:14:14 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:14:23 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 5:

We talked about how Kim Kardashian was actually in court yesterday for this, but this was the year that Kim Kardashian got robbed in Paris.

00:14:41 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Two guys holding another guy down in police uniforms, but right outside of my bedroom, five feet away. So I slid off my bed and picked up my phone, and I'm like, I don't know how to call 911 in a different country. And so I, like, called Pascal, and then the guy came and grabbed the phone for me, threw me on the bed.

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 3:

00:15:56 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, it was the year that Kim Kardashian got robbed in Paris.

00:15:59 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Two guys holding another guy down in police uniforms, but right outside of my bedroom, five feet away. So I slid off my bed and picked up my phone.

00:16:08 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Melissa McCarthy starred in The Boss.

00:16:11 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 2:

You're going to be here. Oh, my God.

00:16:14 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 5:

Close your robe. No, absolutely not. I'm self-tanning, and my legs are still wet. I can't see your vagina.

00:16:22 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 6:

Well, congratulations, and you're welcome. You know, I had it rejuvenated in 2010. They call it a vaguination. You know, it's like a soft silk coin purse. I can barely urinate.

00:16:33 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Alexis? What year was that?

00:16:35 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 5:

That was 2016. Yes, it was. Yeah, big legs.

00:16:39 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:16:42 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 5:

The Kim Kardashian getting robbed in Paris.

00:16:45 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what's funny? Shannon did the dirty story yesterday about them going to court. I did not know that these guys that were posing as the police guys that robbed her, I didn't know they were all elderly dudes.

00:16:57 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 1:

The grandpa robbed her. I'm actually going to talk about it in 30 seconds here in the Dirty.

00:17:01 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

Seriously, stick around for the Dirty so you can hear that story. We're going to set you up with tickets. Have you ever been to Movement? No, I haven't. It used to be called Electronic Music Festival. It's Movement. Movement Festival in Detroit happens always on Memorial Day weekend. You got tickets to the three-day festival. Tickets right now are available at movementfestival.com. You don't have to worry about them. You've got a pair. Congratulations. Thank you so much, Mojo. Thank you, and it's going to be fun. It's always a great weekend. Hopefully, we've got some great weather for that, so hold on one second.

00:17:32 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 6:

I'm so excited.

00:17:32 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 3:

Have the best day, Alexis. Love talking to you.

00:17:36 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

00:17:37 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're going to give away tickets to see Chris Brown. This will be a show. Is it August? Yes, sir. Isn't it shows? Shows? Yes. Yeah, he had to add another one because he sold out the first one. I can't believe he sold one show out at Ford Field. He's Chris Brown, bro. I get it. He's got a ton, but I'm telling you, man, it's like all these people are selling these tickets out at big venues like that. That's crazy. That's crazy. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:25 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30. Good morning, Shannon.

00:18:27 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, you just mentioned it. Good morning. Kim Kardashian taking the stand in Paris to testify in the trial over her 2016 robbery. Nine years later, this is finally happening. She told the court that she absolutely thought she was going to die that night. And I thought this was interesting. One of the guys, one of the defendants, wrote a statement following his arrest in 2017. And that statement was read aloud. In it, the 69-year-old, to your point, Mojo, most of these guys were in their late 60s, early 70s. He apologized to Kim. He said he felt awful about what he did, especially after witnessing Kim's very emotional response on TV in the wake of the ordeal, where she said she thought she was going to die. And he was like, that really was not her intention. When the letter was being read in court, Kim began to cry. She actually turned to this man face-to-face yesterday and said, I do appreciate the letter. I forgive you for what has taken place, but it doesn't change the emotion and the feelings and the trauma. the way that my life is forever changed because of this. Yeah.

00:19:39 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting, you know, he's trying to play it, right? Obviously, to gain sympathy. For sure. But when you hear Kim describing it, and we played this clip for back in the day, but...

00:19:50 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Two guys holding another guy down in police uniforms, but right outside of my bedroom, five feet away. So I slid off my bed and picked up my phone.

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 3:

And I'm like, I don't know how to call 911 in a different country. And so I, like, called Pascal. And then the guy came and grabbed the phone for me, threw me on the bed.

00:20:08 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 1:

And remember, she was in a bathrobe. And I was like, this is it. She was bound, gagged, thrown in the bathroom.

00:20:15 - 00:20:26 | Speaker 3:

They obviously, it was an inside job, right? They knew it was her. They knew that she was checking in. They knew what kind of jewelry she was wearing. She had a ton of jewelry on her. Yeah. I don't understand why these guys travel with all that stuff.

00:20:26 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 1:

Because they're celebrities. They have to wear it on the red carpet. It's borrowed. It's, you know, I mean, in her case, she had that 20 carat ring from Kanye that she was wearing all the time. But Travis Kelsey hit the Amazon up front red carpet yesterday wearing something that has Swifties thinking that there just might be a wedding coming. He was wearing a gray suit, this white T-shirt that featured a large wedding cake print. And so as soon as people saw that, they were like, wait, is there going to be some news from him and Taylor soon? I don't know. Actress Halle Bailey has taken legal action against her ex, a musician who goes by the name DDG. From Michigan. The Little Mermaid star granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order. They share a son, by the way, Halo, who's just 17 months years old. Or 17 months years old. Who's just 17 months.

00:21:16 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:21:19 - 00:22:24 | Speaker 1:

But she described some of the allegations, said they had a fight back in January, during which DDG slammed her face against the steering wheel of their car, leaving her with bruises all over her arms and a chipped tooth. She also described multiple other alleged altercations, including some threatening texts he sent her, an incident where he locked her out of her home, one where he stole her phone and threw it out the car window. She stated in her filing, quote, I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this. And Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin hinted that he is preparing to roll back the one car feature that every driver supposedly hates. And it's that start-stop technology where your car goes off at every red light. So companies get like a climate participation trophy. He said the EPA approved it. Everybody hates it. So they are fiction. they are fixing it i don't know when this is gonna take effect but it's happening it's not gonna that's

00:22:24 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 3:

not gonna be the case so i text with a buddy who's an engineer for one of the big three he wouldn't tell me uh if it was okay to say which company he works for and he said that it saves absolutely no fuel at all to have that thing doesn't it wear down the car battery even though they say that it saves between five four and five percent he says it's bs it doesn't save any fuel all it does is irritate the crap out of you and he said that they did like a survey at their car company this is again one of the big three and they found it's the number one thing people hate in their car and it's also the number one thing that people do the bypass button on like people yeah do you hit that button at all in your car so you don't have to deal with it i never hit the button i just get

00:23:10 - 00:23:19 | Speaker 2:

annoyed when like you know sometimes you pull up to the red light and it immediately turns green but your car is already shut off so it takes like the extra three seconds to get in it's like please

00:23:19 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 3:

don't let the person behind me hit me yeah that that thing annoys me and then also it does annoy me that our shower heads pump out like they dribble water here you go i'm your damn water pressure i know people are gonna be like you know a trumper for saying this stuff no i'm a guy that likes to get wet and i'm fat i'm a guy that likes to get wet i want to get wet in my shower this has nothing to do with anything other than that. I'm telling you, you can say whatever you want to say about me, but don't tell me that I'm doing it only because Donald Trump. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's fake news and you know it.

00:24:00 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 1:

00:30:00 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 2:

sweet five lies to tell your mom hi maddie hi are you in school right now yeah okay where are you

00:32:45 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 3:

right now um somewhere like like there's like i'm in the hallway but like i'm more to the side

00:32:53 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you're just kind of hanging out in the hallway right now at school to do a five lies, tell your mom. We're going to call your mom up, and we're going to have you do these five lies and see what your mom's reaction is to them, okay?

00:33:06 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:33:06 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go. Lie number one, you're going to say, I got in trouble at school. Lie number two?

00:33:12 - 00:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Say, I fought with Mr. B*** again.

00:33:15 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Ooh, is that a teacher that you fought with before?

00:33:18 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a lot of times. Actually, I almost fought with him again today.

00:33:21 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. All right. Lie number three. I told that man I don't know how he has a sex life. Oh, my God. Lie number four. And I made fun of him for his wife calling him kitten. How did we come up with that lie? That is a dumbest lie. That is a true thing.

00:33:42 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 3:

I overheard that. You overheard that. His wife calls him kitten? They're on the phone together.

00:33:47 - 00:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I overheard it. And lie number five.

00:33:51 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 1:

Say he got in my face, so I pushed him, and now they're suspending me for a week.

00:33:57 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. All right. So this is all not lies. These are all truths, probably. And hopefully, Maddie, you don't do something like this. All right, here we go. We're calling your mom up to see what your mom's reaction is going to be. You ready?

00:34:09 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. hello hello maddie um hey mom um don't be mad but um i kind of got in trouble at school what did you do um i fought with mr again and what did you do um i told him that i don't know how he has a sex life and he kind of just

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

started screaming at me and they sent me down

00:34:59 - 00:35:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:35:00 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 3:

to the office. Excuse me, why would you even ask that?

00:35:10 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 2:

He like, he just like, like, he started getting in my face and everything. So like, I like, pushed him back.

00:35:24 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 3:

You touched him? You pushed him? You literally pushed him?

00:35:30 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and I kind of made fun of him for his wife calling him a kitten, which I honestly don't regret that.

00:35:38 - 00:36:21 | Speaker 3:

Maddie! So let me guess, I got to go up to the school. You're probably, what, getting suspended? Yeah, I'm suspended for a week. Oh, my God. You're going to be grounded for, like, ten months. Yeah, I don't regret any of this. I will do it again if I need to. No, you will not. You know better than that. Excuse me? No. I will pull you out of that school and you will go to a different one. That is very disrespectful. That is very disrespectful, and I have taught you much better than that.

00:36:21 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he deserves it.

00:36:23 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 3:

no i will be coming up there and you will be apologizing to him no i'm not oh yes you are i am not yeah i will make sure for it i don't even know what to say i i taught you better than

00:36:41 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 1:

this maddie's mom yeah hi it's mr you can call me kitten what hi how are you i'm okay a little pissed off i get it i'm a little upset too she's making fun of me and she's

00:37:01 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 3:

not very kind i know that's very disrespectful i just told her i was gonna come up there and

00:37:07 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 1:

make her apologize to you i don't i appreciate that i don't know what i would be more upset with the fact that my nickname is kitten uh or the fact that i have to tell you that you're on the mojo in the morning show five lies to tell your mom no you're joking meow

00:37:29 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 3:

we are not joking i'm literally putting on my shoes and getting ready to run out the door sounds like you've done this a few times no she's a really good kid so i didn't understand

00:37:46 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 1:

where she got it from i gotta be honest with you she's not good she is not good She's one of those ones that their parents think that they're good, but the truth comes out eventually.

00:37:57 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, just wait until I pick her up from school.

00:38:00 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I love the fact that you know that your teacher's nickname with his wife is Kitten.

00:38:07 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Also very strange.

00:38:08 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I overheard him on call before. Like Big Dog might be better or something. When you said Kitten, I'm all like, excuse me, why are you telling me your nickname?

00:38:17 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 1:

Did you know that Maddie knows that her teacher's nickname with his wife, that she calls him his kitten? She's overheard the teacher's wife call him kitten.

00:38:27 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 3:

She's a little nosy. She likes to listen to conversations she's not supposed to.

00:38:35 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 1:

Maddie, there you go. Mom, you just won a prize for Maddie.

00:38:42 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 2:

My ears. Yay! Yay!

00:38:44 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, and we'll get you set up with that, okay? Maddie, you've got to get to class.

00:38:50 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

You got testing today.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you better go to class.

00:38:53 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:56 - 00:38:56 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:38:57 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 4:

Five lies to tell your mom. Be part of the show. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:10 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it is Mojo in the Morning. Good morning. Kev's got a dad dilemma here. He's got a little issue going on where he's trying to figure out something for Josiah, Kev's son, who is probably smarter than everybody on this show except for maybe Shannon. Although I honestly would love to do an IQ test between Josiah and Shannon. And let's see. Are you smarter than Josiah will play?

00:39:40 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 4:

He would win because I was book smart. I would memorize everything, do a great job on a test, and then, I mean, forget it, like two weeks later. And I have zero common sense.

00:39:51 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Every time I see him, Josiah, I think he's a little person. Like, I think that he's actually not really a, what is he, 11 or something? 12 years old, man.

00:40:00 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 3:

I think he's not 12 years old. I think he's 55 years old, and he's got Benjamin Button disease or something like that where he, like, reverts back looks-wise.

00:40:09 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 2:

I got blessed, bro. Like, for real. I won the lottery, man. God truly looked out. But Josiah is 12 years old. We are ending his sixth grade year, heading into seventh grade, and Josiah will not be attending, I guess, reattending. He won't be going back to the school that he's in now because we just feel like it's not challenging him enough academically, and there are some behavioral issues with other students, not as it relates to Josiah prayerfully, and luckily he's not getting bullied or anything like that, but just things that he's witnessing that he comes home and says, man, this is what happened today. This is not the right environment that I want Josiah in for him to grow. Do they know that he's not coming back? I don't know.

00:40:51 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 3:

You just announced it.

00:40:52 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, that's cool. It is what it is. But we went to visit a school yesterday, his mother and I, and this was her second time going to the school, my first time going. And once we got done with our tour, she was like, hell no. This is night and day from when I went the first time, which is why she wanted me to come check it out and go see it. And I was a little on the fence, but I wasn't blown away.

00:41:11 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

What's hell no? What happened?

00:41:13 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 2:

She just didn't like it. Let me just say that. No, the vibe was off. The vibe, it just wasn't what she saw. The first time, she felt like they dressed it up for her, and then the second time, she really got to see the reality.

00:41:23 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 3:

I've only toured to school once when we pulled our kids and put them in Catholic school from public school and I was so into looking at things from the perspective of when I was a kid going oh my god, look what they got here now I was doing stuff like that. Chelsea's worried about the academic parts and the teachers and stuff

00:41:42 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 1:

You're like, look at the lunch buffet and how big the lockers are

00:41:46 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 3:

But then

00:41:48 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 2:

another thing that I consider is that this would be Josiah's third school in like three or four years oh wow and one of the things that josiah who just started swimming lessons last saturday one of the things that he mentioned in passing but i caught on to it was the fact that he said he's not gonna try to make friends here because he's not gonna see him in a week or two just like every other friend he's met oh wow and i was like damn like i'm setting up like you hear sometimes about these army brat kids that travel a bunch and they never get to settle in the atmosphere and then they grow up and they have a hard time building relationships with people or they have a hard time with people getting to know them deeply because they just keep it surface because they always feel like well you're going to be gone in a year or two so what's the point of showing me who i really am i'm like battling two things like damn like how do i get him to really connect with people and to have a long lasting experience but then also identify

00:42:41 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 1:

the right school for him yeah that surprises me about him by the way because of his personality I think he's just such an outgoing, enthusiastic kid that I'm surprised that he doesn't just naturally connect with everybody around him.

00:42:58 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 2:

He does, but Josiah is also very animated, and I think at times other children may make him feel self-conscious and insecure about the things that he's into that maybe, quote-unquote, larger society aren't into. So sometimes he hides that true portion of himself. Now, he's very outgoing. Kids truly love him. But I think the bigger problem is those kids love him for a year because then he's pulled out of a school or he's pulled out of a program.

00:43:21 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

So he's being protective of himself.

00:43:23 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 3:

You can't take him out of the school that he's in. Why? Because we've gotten more good topics off of kids saying things to Josiah.

00:43:32 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 1:

And the ladies in the front office. Can I say the Q word?

00:43:35 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 2:

No, you cannot say that word.

00:43:37 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 1:

Nope.

00:43:37 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 2:

He asked me about a lady fart the other day. And I was like, that word. I was like, wait, what? You know what that is?

00:43:44 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 3:

You know what's interesting is I realized how lucky I was as a kid when I realized that there's so many people that are around my circle, friends, friends, kids and stuff, who didn't have the life that I had. Like I lived in a neighborhood, went to school, dumped the street from my house, had like friends that used to be all around there. And I look, kids just don't do that anymore. Like my kids, when they went to the Catholic school, it was like 40 minutes away from our house. And most of the kids that they were friends with lived an almost 45 minutes to an hour away from where we were. Like I had guys, we'd get off the bus. And the moment we got off the bus, it was like, you know, we're all kind of hung together. And I feel like that just doesn't happen anymore. You know?

00:44:30 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:44:31 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 3:

There's something about, and I don't know, there is something about going to, you obviously want your kids to get great academics. but there is something about your kids having like good bonds with friendships and things like that. And so I do think that sometimes you got to look and weigh everything, but I definitely wouldn't want my kid in a school that I felt like was holding them back academically.

00:44:53 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

And like Josiah is a 4.0 student. He does phenomenal, but he'll even say like, it's too easy here. I'm not being challenged.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 6:

Like, these are his words.

00:45:01 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 1:

Well, hopefully whatever school you put him in next, he'll stay at for a while. Because I feel like sixth grade, seventh grade is where you're, like, really starting to solidify the friendships that you're making. And those are your friends that kind of stick you through high school and even maybe beyond that. What's up, Jake? Hi.

00:45:19 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I was wondering, Kevin, is it three schools in three years? Is that all because all three schools have been bad?

00:45:27 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 6:

No, no. and it's been obvious it's a Josiah thing because it ain't but the first school something had happened and he needed to be removed because I didn't like the way that the school had attempted to rectify the situation and they had a process to where that particular school wasn't able to handle the situation internally it needed to be brought up to the district or something which in the meantime nothing changed as they waited for this decision to be made and then this school currently again the academics aren't up to par the after school program is good but it's not as good as i thought it would be or as it was sold that it would be and then the behavior issues of the students around him that's not the environment that i want him in yeah it's interesting because

00:46:10 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 7:

i thought it i thought it was totally different i thought maybe it was because you got uh you had kind of moved because i know you moved from the suburbs back to the city and stuff like that so but he always stayed in school yeah um jake what are your thoughts on this one did you go to the same school your entire school life or did you did you switch around to schools i did but i'm a

00:46:29 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 5:

teacher um and it's uh it's just so hard on the kids to move so much uh with school so i was wondering if it's the school if it's although kevin moving moving a lot or just the different

00:46:39 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 7:

parents i never got to be the new cute boy in class because the girls all look at the new kids as like oh fresh meat and i always feel like there's i never had that and i used to hate when a kid transferred in from out of town or transferred into another from another school girls paid more attention to them than me yes josiah set them i never knew about a lady farts and when i was in

00:47:06 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 6:

school no girls ever explained those the advanced kids that told them other things didn't know what it was either so he's like this has got to be crazy what's up amanda hi hi uh kev i'm actually

00:47:19 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 4:

one of those people that had gone to about nine different schools and we were always moving um so i was always a new kid so after so long i just quit trying to make connections because i always thought i was going to be moving again so but i did go up in the church so i had like church friends yeah i mean i didn't like make connections or go to prom or school dances because i didn't really give anyone a chance but i guess in adulthood it kind of helps because you're not pressured to remain friends with people because you've known them for so long so you can make

00:47:51 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 7:

better choices of making friends i think what shannon said is probably the most important i think once he gets in the middle school and then high school you gotta like be settled on something because i think the problem is you start transferring them at that time yeah it's it's going to be tough i think that's when it's going to get like i think early on transferring them around it may not be as hard on them but um i think like you you want to go to this like i love that my boys went to the same high school all four years and then have that history you know

00:48:19 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

high school for sure yeah what's up uh myra hi um good morning everyone good morning hi my son i i moved him out of his school in the middle of like the seventh grade because the teachers were um the students were fighting the teachers um and i went put him in there thinking it was going to be good it was the tour oh the school looks nice the booth smells good The food wasn't what it was when we did the tour. With Josiah, if you're going to move him out of the school and he's saying he don't want to make friends, tell him that no matter where he is, at least he'll have friends everywhere. That was how my brother, because we moved a lot when I was in school. And I always said that we moved so much, we were like in a witness protection program.

00:49:08 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 7:

Maybe you were and you didn't know about it.

00:49:11 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 3:

Didn't know about it. Right. So I made the choice not to make friends, but my brother was like, well, I'm going to have friends everywhere and all over the world. And everywhere I go, people will know who I am. That's a good perspective. Yeah. So tell Josiah, make friends. You'll have friends everywhere. Yeah.

00:49:30 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 7:

No, that's good. That's a good call. What's up, Isaac? Hi. What's going on? Nothing much, man. What's going on? We're talking about Josiah, the king of the castle. We love that kid.

00:49:40 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 2:

so i'm having a similar situation with my son right now uh so he's extremely smart always a's and b's and um you know he's been going to the same school since kindergarten so it's like now he's sixth grade and everything like that and these honors programs, everything like that, it's like, it's still not enough.

00:50:07 - 00:50:07 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:50:08 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 2:

And now his grades are going down because now he's just focused on other things. He's not focused on his school anymore because it's not enough. Cause it's not challenging.

00:50:19 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's tough. That boy, that's the opposite of me. Everything was so hard. I was like, you know, so it was struggling, but that's a, no, that's interesting.

00:50:28 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 2:

it you can't let a kid be bored right yeah so i'm looking at schools to change them to after this school year and it's like the school has got progressively worse as well it was like parents fighting in the pickup lines now police getting caught or everything and then there's so much going on in his classroom now and it's like nobody can go into his classroom because so many things

00:50:56 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 3:

has happened where is where is he going to school where the parents are fighting in the pickup lines

00:51:02 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 2:

uh detroit enterprise academy that's um well you didn't have to name the whole school but

00:51:06 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 4:

what's going on that's not the school's fault that's that's all the parents the parents go

00:51:13 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 3:

what do they fight about they fight about like position in line or something or what's the

00:51:16 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 2:

story i don't even know i just know the police get caught too much the car pickup lines are wild

00:51:22 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 3:

It is wild, isn't it? I used to fall asleep in the car pickup line and just get people honking at me because they'd be like, hey, move, move up, pull up.

00:51:32 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 4:

Praying for you, bro.

00:51:33 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 3:

All right, we got to figure out a school for Josiah.

00:51:36 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 4:

Dog, I'm low-key. I don't got enough money probably for that, but I want him to go to a school where they got to wear suit jackets and ties. I want him to be on his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air vibe.

00:51:45 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, can we get him a scholarship? We'll get him an honorary scholarship.

00:51:49 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know what school that is.

00:51:50 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:51:51 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Are there schools around here where you have to wear suit jackets?

00:51:53 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 3:

There has to be. Right. Well, you got to look at, like, a Cranbrook Country Day.

00:52:00 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't even think those you're wearing suit jackets. But then, regardless of the physical part, like, I want Josiah to find a home.

00:52:07 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:52:07 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, a place where he feels comfortable and he can thrive. Do not homeschool. Hell, no. Come on. That kid.

00:52:13 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 1:

He's smart. I don't want him as a home school. And I feel like he thrives in community. Yeah. Like, he likes being around other people.

00:52:19 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's true. I wish my parents homeschool him.

00:52:20 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to homeschool him, Kev.

00:52:22 - 00:52:23 | Unknown:

Yeah, I don't want to do that.

00:52:23 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 3:

Kev, no, one of the 8,000 girls, Kev, and dates. Maybe he'll start dating teachers. Hit the button. Maybe he'll start to walk.

00:52:29 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

00:53:37 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 1:

Diddy's girlfriend of 10 years, now ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, took the stand with some pretty graphic testimony against him in New York City yesterday. She said that during their relationship, Diddy forced her into these disturbing freak-offs that we have heard so much about over the past couple of years. These very arranged and choreographed sexual encounters with, in many cases, escorts, prostitutes, strangers, strippers that he directed and filmed, fueled by drugs they could last days upon days. Cassie said, quote-unquote, they became a job. She testified that on one occasion, a blow-up pool of baby oil and lubricants was placed in a hotel room, and she was told to get inside in her outfit and shoes. Diddy said he always wanted her body, her entire body, glistening with the baby oil, is how she described it.

00:54:30 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 3:

Was it that tainted oil that had the baby oil that had chemicals? The drugs and stuff. The drugs in it?

00:54:39 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

She also described Diddy's violent outbursts, controlling behavior, emotional manipulation, right down to what she wore and how she did her nails. They had to be white. Her hair couldn't look, quote unquote, too Mexican. Behind closed doors, though, Cassie said she lived in fear of Sean Combs, who abused her mentally.

00:55:00 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 4:

and physically throughout their decade-long relationship. She said, quote, he controlled a lot of my life. He used his bodyguards and other staff members to aid in that control. If she didn't answer her phone, for example, he would send somebody to find her, and then there would be a beating, those sorts of things. Cassie is set to take the stand again a little bit later on this morning.

00:55:20 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 2:

The defense is going to have to be very meticulous and very strategic as to how they cross-examine her because of the way that Cassie comes off as a young, delicate woman. But what the defense is going to try to do is threaten her credibility, her believability.

00:55:39 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 4:

Which they already tried to do yesterday. She is three weeks away from her due date and having a baby. And one of the things that Diddy's defense tried to make happen yesterday was they wanted her to be seated in the box, you know, where she was going to testify before the jury walked in. so they couldn't see her very pregnant belly because they think that that would provide sympathy for her.

00:56:00 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 6:

You talked yesterday about how he looked. I got to finally see the sketch from the sketch. He looks like the grandpa's. You know how, what's the movies, the Tyler Perry movies where all of a sudden grandpa shows up and it's... Oh, the Madea joint? Is it the Madea movie? He looked like the grandpa's in there. Like, wait a second. How much gray they put in that hair?

00:56:22 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 7:

Here's my thing, though. Obviously, I don't think anyone can contest with the videos that we've seen, with the testimonies that we've heard that Diddy isn't the best guy. And that's putting it mildly.

00:56:33 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:56:34 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 7:

Right. But what is illegal?

00:56:37 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 6:

Well, if he's forcing.

00:56:38 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, and also this is where the racketeering charges are going to come in. Because I think that he had a lot of people working for him to cover up some of the illegal activities that were happening. Like, people were saying yesterday, oh, this is all, you know, this is way more domestic violence than sex trafficking or racketeering. You have to remember, this trial is going to last eight to ten weeks. This is not even scratching the surface of what he has been involved in.

00:57:06 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 7:

And prayers for Cassie. This cannot be easy. Pregnant, three weeks to go, and you got to go through and relive all these experiences. Yeah.

00:57:13 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 4:

Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred removed Pete Rose, Shoeless Joe Jackson, and several other deceased players. Isn't that his name? Yeah. Okay, for a second, I was like, did I say that one? Okay, I am not on painkillers like this man to my left over. You sound very mellow, though. A whole bunch of other deceased players from the league's permanently ineligible list. So this means that Rose Jackson and the others are now eligible for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

00:57:42 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 5:

This has taken eight, nine years. Really happy with the decision, historic decision. Took a lot of work. I'm most pleased for the Rose family and what it would have meant for Pete.

00:57:55 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 6:

They should have done this years ago. Obviously, Pete Rose should have admitted that he gambled on baseball. That would have been the big thing. But the moment that they started taking a dime from any of these draft kings and, you know, I don't know, the other apps that are out there, they should have said, you know what, we look like hypocrites if we're keeping out Shoeless Joe Jackson from the Black Sox, which was that scandal in Chicago. Those guys, you know, throwing games and the gambling. And then Pete Rose. I wish they would have done it when Pete was alive. Yeah. Instead of waiting until they're dead, you know?

00:58:30 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 4:

So now they're eligible into the Hall of Fame in 2028.

00:58:33 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 7:

Let me add you this, Mojo. The same way you feel like people who gamble and now that sports are accepting dollars in advertising from gambling sites, you feel the same way about people that's locked up for weed and we got all these medical marijuana spots.

00:58:48 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely, and I think that's kind of been somewhat rectified a little bit over time, but it needs to even be more rectified over time. You can't throw somebody in jail for what is a killer's term over having a little bit of weed. That was their cop-outs.

00:59:05 - 00:59:19 | Speaker 4:

Bill Belichick sat down for an interview with ESPN yesterday. Jordan Hudson was not sitting there hauling all the shots, But he did briefly touch on all of the media attention surrounding his relationship with his 24-year-old girlfriend.

00:59:19 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 1:

I know that you're aware that your relationship with Jordan Hudson has been a headline. How do you think that that impacts your ability to coach this football team, if at all?

00:59:28 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, that's, you know, really off to the side. It's a personal relationship, and she doesn't have anything to do with UNC football. I'm excited to be back in the coaches' meetings and getting ready for, you know, June and then August so we get to training camp. So June will be a big recruiting month for us, and then August we'll start getting ready for the season.

00:59:47 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

She kind of grilled him a little bit more in his longer clip. You've got to go listen for it on Twitter or whatever. But I'm watching this thing, and Bill just sits there, and he's stone-faced the entire time.

00:59:59 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 4:

He's really awkward. He does not care. I mean, for one thing, the guy always wears shirts that have rips in it. You ever notice that? That's a new thing.

01:00:07 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 3:

No, that is absolutely a new thing. That is Jordan trying to make him pull. No, no, no. Which he's not.

01:00:11 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 4:

He did that when he was with the Patriots. I don't remember that. He would always cut his sleeves off of his sweatshirts. Oh, I remember that.

01:00:17 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 5:

That was it, though. No, Bill is Bill.

01:00:20 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 4:

Bill is Bill.

01:00:20 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 5:

He's ripping in new places now.

01:00:22 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, probably. I wonder how much testosterone that guy has to take to keep up with her.

01:00:28 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, did you guys see Jared Goff's wife, Kristen Goff's new swimsuit? Her Sports Illustrated swimsuit photos yesterday. She was posting them to her social media. She went off her little baby bump that she had at the time. I mean, if I could die and in my next life come back and look like her, please, God. Please, God. She is gorgeous. She's gorgeous. So congrats to her. But in that same issue, actress Selma Hayek making her debut on the cover at age 58.

01:00:56 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 1:

You know, my body is not necessarily the model type. And it just, I never thought that was a possibility. And for it to happen when I'm 58, it's really shocking.

01:01:08 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 3:

Laurie and Chan, Libby Dunn, and Jordan Childs were also cover models this year.

01:01:13 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 5:

I think, going back to Kristen, I think the Detroit Lions wags or girlfriends, wives, we might have the best looking team off the field.

01:01:24 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 3:

And Coach's wife. Shout out to Holly.

01:01:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, Holly's fantastic, but Jameer Gibbs is a girl.

01:01:31 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm on Rod.

01:01:32 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Man, we got our own starting fire.

01:01:57 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 5:

We call them wags. That's right. That's a proper term, right?

01:02:00 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Wags? What is that?

01:02:01 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, it would be wives and girlfriends. Wives and girlfriends. Wes, you know, throw away. And Wes, the W. Wes and, I don't know.

01:02:07 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 4:

I had somebody the other day, I was out with Chelsea, somebody the other day asked, did not know who I was, didn't know anything, and said, would you and your daughter, like, and I'm like going, Chelsea and I were like four years apart. They thought Chelsea was your daughter. Chelsea was my daughter. Wow. Yeah. I think a lot is, too, that I got this brace on and all this stuff, and she's helping me. But it was like they looked like. I said, no, that's my caregiver. I just wanted to know that. She gives me sponge baths. What's up, Faith? Are you there, Faith? Yes, ma'am. Hi. Faith, you are a winner. Faith, you're a winner. Congratulations to you. Yeah, Faith.

01:02:47 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, guys. You have a good day.

01:02:49 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 4:

You too. Lydia, we still have our Jelly Troll contest going on, and how are the entries for that?

01:02:55 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 2:

They're looking pretty good. Okay. I mean, our best Jelly Roll submission that we've had is going to be here tomorrow, so I guess it'll be up to you and Shannon and Kev.

01:03:03 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 4:

So, we were talking yesterday, because some of the people are like, well, I can't come down, I can't get off work. And I'm like, why do the TV stations do all this, you know, Zooming and Booming and all the rest of the stuff? And I'm like, I don't want to give up a bad contestant just because they can't drive, you know, from Grand Rapids or Toledo or wherever, you know. So we got to figure that out on how to how to do that. So but also if the person's coming in, I love it that they're coming in because I want to get pictures with them in our studio and stuff.

01:03:30 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Can we put them like in a Zoom call? Yeah. Well, I see them all on the screen.

01:03:34 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 4:

How did you guys figure that out or am I throwing at you?

01:03:37 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

um so we couldn't figure it out to where you would be able to hear them but i did get some of them who said that they wouldn't be able to make it i kind of give them a little bribe can't mojo just be like facetime them well that doesn't connect to the board why don't we do this why

01:03:52 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 5:

don't we know if he does it on zoom he plugs his phone up and plays music all the time couldn't

01:03:57 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 3:

i could do it on my i could do it on my computer my ipad well i think that you know what maybe we

01:04:01 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 4:

do it on channon's ipad that might be the thing if it plays into the board i know well let's test it today let's see if anybody has any clue how to work so do i have to give them shannon's

01:04:09 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 5:

You gotta get in today, so call Lydia this morning and tell her that you want to enter this contest, and then she'll have you send her the pictures so we can get those. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Our More Mojo podcast live is Friday. So we'll be out Friday at the Royal Oak Imagine Theater. Yes, I was going to say that, but I almost said Royal Oak Music Theater. No, I almost said movie theater.

01:05:51 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Yesterday you kept saying Royal Oak Music Theater. You're projecting, you're manifesting.

01:05:55 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Paul's actually going to be there with us. Paul Glantz is from Imagine. You know, we love Paul so much. They are our biggest contributor to breaking and entering Christmas Wish. We're raising money for the Christmas wishes. We have a good rundown of the show. A lot of behind the scenes on the show. There's been a lot of changes over the course of time. We're going to talk about some of that, you know, to you at the podcast live. If you have tickets to the podcast, it's sold out within days, and we sold them out months ago. You know, I don't even know how long ago it was. It seems like forever ago. Make sure you come on Friday. So be there. And we're starting on time. We're not starting late this time. Are we? Yes. What's the actual start time? 7. 7 p.m. sharp. 7 p.m. We are, first off, we are all in our seats just before 7 o'clock. And that mic rolls at 7 o'clock. Because I'm not doing what we did before. And we were kind of willy-nilly with what time we were starting. And we were inside of like some meet and greet room. And I think we stayed in there way too long. And people were waiting for us. And I don't want to make anybody wait. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon, this question is one of those ones where I think that I got to give it up to the women to be able to answer this question. Because I don't know as a guy if I would look bad if I answered it. How many pyrocenes does a person get to the point where they become trashy?

01:07:15 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's any secret that I'm pretty conservative when it comes to appearance. Like I don't technically ever really show a ton of skin or I don't know. Like, I'm not conservative when it comes to other things, but dressing. To our male listeners' dismay. I don't know about that. Okay. So, my sweet stepdaughter already has two ear piercings. She's about to turn 16 years old. And she is begging her dad and I, she's begging Wes and I for thirds. So, one more piercing in each of her ears. And Wes and I agree that that is a big nope. because I say once you go more than two, it starts to look a little trashy. Oh, for real? I don't know. I mean, I don't know. Is it placement? So we just keep saying no. By the way, I hope that those that have... I know I'm going to get attacked on this. It is my personal opinion.

01:08:12 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Here's what you say. Looks good on you.

01:08:16 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 3:

She disagrees. She disagrees with us, and she's like, it's so cute, though, And she's showing us all the earrings, how she would arrange, you know, the different earrings. And but we're like, we're holding firm on it. It is not happening. And she's like, for my sweet 16, can I get the third?

01:08:32 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 1:

She's selling it. No. So currently she has four piercings, two in each year.

01:08:36 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:08:37 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 1:

And now she's she's one of a total of six.

01:08:39 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:08:40 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 1:

I think it's fine. I think there are women out there who look extremely attractive with multiple earrings. I mean, you like Malika Andrews from ESPN. She's got her whole lobe going crazy.

01:08:51 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 3:

Women. Yeah, women for sure. Not 15-year-old girl. Interesting. Okay? Gotcha.

01:08:56 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 2:

So real quick. I do want to go.

01:08:58 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:08:58 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 2:

I am a boring stick in the mud stepmom. I want to go on record that, yes, you are definitely.

01:09:03 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm a dud.

01:09:04 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

You're, yes.

01:09:05 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 3:

I get it. But does anybody agree with me? What does her mom think? Help me here.

01:09:09 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 2:

What does her mother think?

01:09:11 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 3:

I think that's actually a good question. I think Wes has talked to her mom about it. I think her mom is cooler.

01:09:18 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 2:

than us and probably would say go for it so i actually am going to go the opposite route with this i think it looks trashy when people get their baby's ears pierced and i know that there's a lot of my mexican friends and italian friends they go out and do it whenever you get a baby's ears pierced i'm like going come on don't do that to that kid they ain't clear screaming the kid's got a bigger earring in their ear than their ear lobe is you know what i mean you know why a lot of them

01:09:45 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 3:

do that though is because supposedly there's very little pain yeah I don't know when I get it done

01:09:51 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

as a baby as opposed to a 10 year old my my sister my sister Mary Jo did that with uh with her kids and uh she's married to a Mexican guy And I said to her, I go, what are you doing? And she's like, it's part of the culture. I go, come on. Part of the culture. So you tell me you marry a guy that has a part of the culture where they put like a big old thing in their nose. You do that?

01:10:12 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 7:

Since we're sharing, I'm not a fan of all these women getting nose rings. Like it looks nice on some women. But then it left from being, oh, this is something I like. And it turned into like this is something everybody's doing. It looks nice. I'm just going to be a part of the trend. It's not for everybody knows.

01:10:27 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Alex wants to comment on Shannon saying that three paracines is trashy.

01:10:33 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Hi. First time, long time. How many holes you got? I've been listening to you guys for about 15 or 20 years. I love it. But I said more like 15 because I'm turning 20 this year. Okay.

01:10:50 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 2:

And what are your thoughts on this?

01:10:52 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 4:

So I have to disagree because one of my friends, she has the industrial piercings, the regular piercings on her ears, and then like three lining up on her earlobe. And it looks really nice on her.

01:11:04 - 01:11:04 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:11:05 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 4:

And I think just in general, the piercings, it depends on the person, not just like, like it doesn't fit anyone.

01:11:12 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 2:

It depends on the person. I also, it depends on the ear. It depends on, honestly, where it's done. It depends on the jewelry that they choose. I really do think that a lot of this makes a lot of sense.

01:11:22 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 1:

I have heard all of these arguments in my house.

01:11:27 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 2:

She's not bending. I'm telling you.

01:11:29 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 7:

Is it more the piercings or that is she's 15?

01:11:33 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 3:

Both.

01:11:34 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Tara, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:11:38 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So, first time caller. Hey. Tara's on the phone. My daughter is 15, almost 16. and same. She wants her fourth and I'm with Shannon. I feel like it looks trashy. Okay. Too many.

01:11:59 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Too many. So you think that your daughter, just like Shannon, who wants a fourth, where Shannon

01:12:06 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 1:

We're trying to say no to the third.

01:12:09 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 2:

No to a third. So you're already cooler than me. Was the third hard to do or is it just that the fourth one is hard?

01:12:17 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 3:

um both really but i i agreed with the third and now the fourth she's begging just like your stepdaughter and i'm just yeah here's the other piece of this too so lucy who just turned

01:12:31 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 1:

11 now is entering into this argument and she's like if sam gets her third okay i get my second you can't say yes to her and no to me what do you think of her getting a second Abso-frickin-lutely not. She's 11 years old. No.

01:12:48 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, do you think that part of your thing with Sam and objection with Sam is because of Lucy? You know, Lucy will be following in the footsteps.

01:12:56 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

No, but now it makes me want to double down on it more. Wow. That wasn't even part of the equation at first. It just got thrown in there about a week or two ago.

01:13:04 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Emily is on with us, and Emily has 13 pair scenes, and she obviously disagrees with Shannon, I'm guessing.

01:13:11 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 1:

In your ear? 13 in your ear?

01:13:12 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 5:

No. So, I have four in my, like, lobe, and then I have both my conches done and my helix.

01:13:23 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 2:

What are those? Hold on. Explain what that is for dumb guys like me.

01:13:27 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 5:

Like, I'm in school. Okay. So, the conches, like, in the middle of your ear.

01:13:31 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:13:31 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 5:

Like, right before you, like, put, like, the Q-tip in your ear. I don't know how to explain it. Oh, okay. Well, I have a Rook piercing, too. It's kind of like the Helix. That's the concept. Or not the Helix, the Industrial, but it's like in your inner ear. But, yeah, I definitely disagree with Shannon, but everyone has their own opinion, you know. She's young, she might regret it.

01:14:00 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Do you also have a piercing? Regina.

01:14:04 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 5:

No, no.

01:14:05 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 2:

No, okay, because I was wondering. When you have 13 piercines, I'm thinking you run out of spots.

01:14:09 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 5:

right no no so i have most of them in my ears but then i have like them in my nose as well so i actually went to go get one of my nose piercings done and like next day i went to go get the other one and then i got um my septum done like two days later that is a the septum

01:14:31 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 2:

scares me on that one i don't know if i definitely want you the uh the septum uh pierced at all you

01:14:38 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 6:

I have a deviated septum.

01:14:41 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I think the septum is, now you're asking for it. I don't know. You're asking for it. I just think that that's a little too much. But looks good on you.

01:14:53 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 6:

Hey. Thanks, guys.

01:14:55 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Take care. What's up, Sarah? Hi.

01:14:59 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 5:

Hey, you're on.

01:15:00 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 2:

long time listener long time caller thank you love you guys um i think it does look kind of trashy i'm 25 years old i only do have currently just one piercing like your basic one but i like i don't know i just there's something about it that just does look trashy with like the more piercings that you get like two is okay but if you're pushing for a third i i don't know like There's just something about it.

01:15:30 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Question, Sarah, are you a virgin?

01:15:32 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 2:

Do not. What does that have to do with it?

01:15:34 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm just wondering. Okay, I'm just wondering. I don't know. I was thinking to myself. I'm like, she only got one piercing at 25 years old.

01:15:39 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 4:

So? No. I have only one piercing at 42 years old.

01:15:42 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 1:

There's no holes going in or out. I just want to make sure. Okay.

01:15:47 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 3:

One piercing is classy.

01:15:49 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 1:

All right. One piercing is classy. One piercing is classy. Can y'all define trashy? Because I don't really use that term. So, like, what does that really mean? Trashy? I don't even know if I could define it. I just, I, I, I think that, uh, not classy, the opposite of classy.

01:16:04 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 4:

And I don't think that's what you mean. That is not part of my definition at all.

01:16:08 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 1:

I want to want to clarity, but I worry about the whole idea that we were defining it based on something like that, um, where she's trying to express herself. But I also know she goes to a private school. Do they have any rules on it? Cause I know that the boys headed a private school. They had issues.

01:16:25 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. And boys can, I think boys can have their ears pierced too. Oh, really?

01:16:28 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 1:

Because I think at our kids' private school, I think that they had rules on certain forms of jewelry and stuff. Chrissy, you there?

01:16:36 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am.

01:16:37 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 1:

Trishy, it's Trashy Tuesday here on the Mojo. Actually, that's not even Tuesday. What's going on, Trishy? Chrissy?

01:16:43 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 3:

I was just calling to say, I think it's actually kind of cute. When I was younger, I'm 47 today, but when I was younger, I had 15 in one ear going from my bottom all the way to my top. Super cute. Super cute.

01:16:55 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 1:

15 in one ear. Yeah.

01:16:57 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was cute. How much air you got? It was a condensate.

01:17:02 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying? Like, how big are those things? The little ones.

01:17:07 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 3:

The little studs. All the way up and down.

01:17:09 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever get migraines?

01:17:12 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 3:

No. No. How would that affect your head? Your ears.

01:17:15 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 1:

It's your ears. It's next to your head. What do you think? You don't think that it's right there next to your brain? I'm thinking it's giving you a headache. She's got to, like, stand away from the microwave. Yeah, that's right. How long does it take you to go through TSA security at the airport?

01:17:29 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You guys are funny. I didn't travel then. I was 15.

01:17:32 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Hold on. Jenna says piercings are one thing, but do not do what, Jenna?

01:17:41 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 4:

Gauges.

01:17:42 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gauges. Oh, bruh. That gave you the loose ear when you take it out.

01:17:47 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. My daughter is 32, and she started getting them at 18, and I told her, don't do it. She's got these big gaping holes in her ear. Oh, God.

01:17:59 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 1:

Although, I got to tell you, though, it makes for fun playing, like, Nerf ball, Nerf basketball and stuff with them. You know, Cody and Promo got gauges. Big old.

01:18:07 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 4:

There are definitely some people that can pull them off.

01:18:10 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:18:11 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 4:

At least the piercings will close. The gauges do not. Okay.

01:18:15 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, gauges is a lot. That's definitely a commitment. I mean, I don't know if, like I said, I've never gotten even a tattoo at all because I've never been committed to anything at all to say I was wanting to get it.

01:18:28 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 3:

Did you ever have an ear pierced?

01:18:29 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 1:

I did. I thought I remembered this story. I had to get in my ear. Do you know that one of the biggest fights I ever had with Chelsea was we had a bet on the show and I lost the bet to everybody and I had to get my belly button pierced. She was so embarrassed that I had my belly button pierced.

01:18:43 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 4:

But no ears.

01:18:44 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 1:

I did my ear pierce too.

01:18:45 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 4:

See, I don't see, so Wes used to have his ears pierced, and he still has the holes.

01:18:50 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:18:50 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 4:

Like, they never went away.

01:18:51 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for me, I guess I got a lot of skin, but. Mojo, you're a little freak boy. You're a little baby, but. That's right. Nosties. We're in KUI Detroit. WS and Xmas.

01:19:06 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 3:

And we're done.

01:19:07 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 1:

So, VKS Toledo, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:11 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, he's amazing.

01:19:14 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 4:

Live.

01:19:15 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:19:41 - 01:19:44 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second here. Shiana, are you there?

01:19:45 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:19:46 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Shiana says, I disagree with Shannon completely. And Shiana, tell Shannon all the piercings that you have.

01:19:56 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 2:

I have tongue, nose. I've had dermals Belly button Um Ears

01:20:08 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

And your chest too right

01:20:11 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh and tattoos

01:20:13 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

So of course you disagree with Shannon Why would you not disagree with Shannon You got all those pyrocenes there But you don't regret any of those

01:20:21 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't and I actually let my Nine year old daughter Get her ears pierced when she was six Interesting. Wow.

01:20:32 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, that is, by the way, let me ask you, at what age will your kid be able to go and get the tongue pierced, the belly button pierced, the nipples pierced?

01:20:46 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I have those pierced too.

01:20:48 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm talking, yeah, I know. Well, I'm talking about, yes, I'm talking about when will your daughter be allowed to join you?

01:20:53 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 2:

well the Italian stuff I would say probably 18 19 okay when you got all these piercings

01:21:04 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 4:

did you get them for like pleasure like do you like the pain or is it for like cosmetic appeal

01:21:11 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

um I have a really high pain tolerance so it doesn't really bother me yeah and some of them

01:21:21 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 3:

were for an aesthetically pleasing to me so yeah okay and then when you say aesthetically pleasing that's for looks what about pain pleasing did you do them at all because you liked the pain you like to actually

01:21:38 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 2:

no no i'm not i'm actually not a big like pain okay all right that's right because i thought

01:21:46 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 3:

that that was kind of your goal. Did you say you had

01:21:48 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 4:

your coochie pierced? No. Would you ever?

01:21:52 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 3:

Or you have limits? No. Okay, no coochies. She's drawn a line.

01:21:58 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 2:

No, one, because I've known my piercer for 20 years and I don't want him looking down there. Oh, okay. He's seen everything else.

01:22:08 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:22:09 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't think a coochie piercing would be good on you. I think that you look great just the way you are. I can't get over you, St. Coochie. Thank you for the call. I appreciate you.

01:22:22 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no problem.

01:22:23 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 3:

Shiana. Take care of yourself. Alright, it's Mojo in the morning. Got a lot of stuff to get to on the show. I'm going to get to a bunch of... I'm going to go off script for a second, though. I'm going to go off script.

01:22:34 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 2:

Lydia's about to have a heart attack.

01:22:36 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Alright, I'm going off script. What are we doing?

01:22:40 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 5:

You will soon find out.

01:22:42 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 3:

You will soon find out. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So I saw a couple of stories that are trending, and I want to bring them up on the air and see what the listeners think of them. Just throw it out there, because I think these are pretty good ones. First one, I've been on Reddit for many, many years. I go on Reddit all the time just to see how much people hate me. You know what I mean? Like people will...

01:23:03 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 1:

I have never once been on Reddit.

01:23:04 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there's like Mojo in the Morning Reddit threads.

01:23:07 - 01:23:10 | Speaker 1:

So I've heard, and that's why I don't go on there, because I don't care.

01:23:10 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 3:

It actually makes me feel good. It's funny. I was talking to Woody from the Woody show, iHeartRadio's Woody show, and Woody actually goes on as Woody and answers everybody on this, right? Oh, my gosh. He would. That's great. I said, I don't have that kind of love for it or time, but I like to read it because I like, I enjoy those that hate us or hate me specifically because when you hate me specifically, but yet you still are listening to the show, thank you. I appreciate you. You know what I mean? Like, that makes me feel good. Like the people that will have a negative to say, because not everything that I do say or am part of should you like you are your own person. We're human, but at least listen. That's all I care about.

01:23:53 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to take you off your point, but have you read anything on there that was hate, but it actually has some true and some value to it?

01:23:59 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there was a couple of things that they would say about about me that made me go, oh, maybe I need to check that. You know what I mean? Yeah, there were some good ones. Usually not much. Usually when somebody's trolling you or, you know, they're doing it, usually it's somebody that has, like, some kind of an anger about something else. And I always believe that the anger comes from somebody usually. And what I mean by that is when they're angry about something and they'll bring up something on the air, there's a back story to it. You know what I mean? Like a friend of a friend is friends with somebody or whatever. And you're not going to please everybody. Yeah. We're like a restaurant. We've got a lot of people that come and go and they use our product, right? They listen to our show like they're eating our food. Not every meal that we put out is going to be a five-star. We're going to have an occasional maybe two-star. You know what I mean? I don't think we ever go one-star or zero-stars. And I'll give my money back to certain people that have had a bad experience. But then after that.

01:25:00 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say you might be picky and you might need to just go find another restaurant to go partake in, you know, but with that said, so I go on Reddit a lot and I look at different comments that people make about things that are done with the show. But I also get into certain things that Reddit will bring up like the am I the a-holes that they have. Yeah. And I get so into them. Like I honestly find myself and I do comment on those. So you might see my comments occasionally on some of the stuff that are on some of the other Reddit threads. Where the idea came from, by the way, for us to do it on the show. Exactly. They've mastered it. All right. This one was an interesting one that I saw posted yesterday. In 2023, I, 23-year-old female, lost my male boyfriend unexpectedly. It was a devastating part of my life and time in my life as we were childhood best friends and we dated for three years. After he passed, I got a meaningful tattoo in his memory. Now I'm dating someone new recently. Things have been going really well overall. He knew about my late boyfriend, but recently he actually saw my tattoo that I had for him and realized how much that tattoo was bothering him. He said that he felt disrespected that I chose to do that tattoo for my ex. Now he is wanting me to get rid of that tattoo. Am I an a-hole for having a tattoo for my ex? What are your thoughts on this one? So the tattoo, by the way, is a great tattoo. It says Daniel, and it says Daniel, and it says the date that Daniel died. And so it's got his date on there. Do you think he's an a-hole, or do you think she's an a-hole for having the tattoo?

01:26:50 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't think she's an a-hole for having it. You know, she fell in love with this guy. Maybe they had talked about building a longer future together, potentially getting married, having children, building a life together, and then he passes away, and she wants to keep his memory alive and ink his body on her. I don't think she's an a-hole for that at all.

01:27:10 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 1:

Would you have a problem being with a woman that had another man's name tattoo?

01:27:13 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 2:

For sure, I don't want to see that crap.

01:27:15 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 1:

But the guy's dead.

01:27:16 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 2:

He's not a competition for you. He's got a dead dick. I don't want to see that.

01:27:20 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 3:

I think his feelings are really valid, because I think I would feel a certain way after quite some time, too. Really? However, I'm saying his feelings are valid, but he can't tell her to get it covered up. That is not his place.

01:27:32 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 1:

It's on her wrist. So every time he is tying her to the bed, that thing is right there. Every time he's holding her. Yes. And it is on. Hold on a second. it's on her well he would see it if it's on are you joking it is on her wrist or no it's on her

01:27:47 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 2:

wrist it's on her left hand here it is okay i wonder does it say how long they've been in a

01:27:52 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 1:

relationship really pretty tattoo by the way it's it seems like it's recent it seems like it's uh yeah he can't say that if it's recent yeah they've only been together recently i don't know i i when i look at something like this and i see that you know this was a guy that meant that much to you because it was a person that was a childhood best friend and then becomes your relationship, I think it's asking too much to ask her to get it removed.

01:28:14 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 3:

If it was somebody she just dated and they got matching tattoos or something, I would feel differently about it.

01:28:20 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 1:

Maddie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:28:23 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. How are you guys?

01:28:24 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What's going on?

01:28:26 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I think it's a little ridiculous that he is upset over a tattoo. It's like she lost her best friend. And it's just in memory of him. I mean, even if they were just dating and then they broke up for, like, weird reasons or broke up for normal reasons, that's a little bit different. Yeah. But, I mean, he passed away, and I just don't – I don't know. That's just kind of – that would set me off, dating someone who was, like, upset because I lost the best friend.

01:28:53 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 1:

To me, I would say that that guy has got real bad confidence issues that he can't –

01:28:57 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 4:

Exactly.

01:28:58 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 1:

He's, like, having issues with a dead man, for God's sakes. Skylar, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:29:04 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time, long time. What do you think? I just wanted to say my kid's father, he passed away a few years ago, and I actually have his name tattooed on me, and I would not get that covered up.

01:29:22 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 1:

Where's it tattooed? Where's that?

01:29:25 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

It's on my arm.

01:29:26 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:29:26 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 3:

Has anybody ever said anything to you about it that you've gone out with? No.

01:29:31 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

Do you have to explain that, though, if you are dating? Like, do you tell somebody right away? By the way, this is my dead guy.

01:29:41 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I don't really know. They probably would know eventually since I do have kids. They'd probably be wondering, like, where their dad is. But I feel like it would be, like, a little bit insecure for somebody to, like, be asking you to cover something up like that. I mean, he's not even here anymore.

01:30:00 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. I'm thinking the guy's dead. I got no competition. I mean, even if the guy didn't die, but maybe he was like in a wheelchair, I'd be OK with it. But I don't want him to be alive and breathing in competition for me.

01:30:13 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 4:

I think it's more so like, yes, I think is it. I agree with you all wholeheartedly. I think it's OK. But it is a constant reminder for your partner that you love someone else. Yeah, I think that's the biggest thing. Every time I see this, regardless of where he resides,

01:30:31 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 3:

that's still somebody that's in your heart. Kenny, what's up, Kenny? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts?

01:30:37 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 1:

Morning, guys. How are you guys doing? Good morning.

01:30:38 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:30:41 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 1:

So I think it's kind of astime for this guy to feel like it's disrespectful because considering the tattoo has gotten before he came into the picture, like also he's kind of showing his little man syndrome because the ex-boyfriend is gone like he's he's dead yeah so it's not like he really has much to worry about and it's a memorial tattoo so if he's really worried about that there's no telling what else he's going to be focused on like this is kind of menial yeah that's like what he should be

01:31:11 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 3:

focused on it says up here on the board it says that you had your ex-wife's wedding date tattooed

01:31:17 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

on you is that right oh yeah um i have a full sleeve mra arm and um i ended up getting our wedding date on my wrist oh um and then once we separated and went our separate ways you know i got it covered up for my own doings um nobody really like had an issue with it

01:31:34 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 3:

and you should have actually put the divorce date on there i think the divorce date would

01:31:38 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 1:

have been a proper one you know um it it would have been the same day except or or have it be

01:31:45 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 3:

like a headstone it would be the greatest thing have it from this date to this day how did you

01:31:50 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

managed to get him on the same day uh no idea that's just how wayne county ended up doing it

01:31:57 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 3:

that's just a coincidence isn't that amazing though that would be great have that date that date should just be and by the way don't ever go on a date with a girl on that date that'd be a bad

01:32:06 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 2:

one caitlin what's up what's going on so i think he's the a-hole because one the guy's dead yeah and there's really nothing that he should worry about and then my boyfriend we will we will be together for 10 years in july we have four kids another one on the way due in september and he has his ex-girlfriend's um date on his foot he's terrified to get it covered up one i don't see it every day so who really cares and two we've been together for 10 years i'm not worried about her

01:32:37 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 3:

okay but it's he's got his on her foot that's interesting that's an interesting spot to put it what's what's the meaning young and dumb yeah i guess you can say honestly he kicked her out or something like that with the foot or something.

01:32:49 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 2:

See, I think that one would kind of bug me.

01:32:51 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 3:

Having it on the foot.

01:32:51 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 2:

After a decade still. When I was a teenager, I was like, you know, put void or something over it. Like, get it covered up. Put void. But now that we've been together for 10 years and then we have four kids and we have a fifth on the way, like, it doesn't bother me anymore. We live together. We, you know, we're not married, but we have kids together and we've been together for so long.

01:33:16 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 4:

But when y'all playing footsies in the bed, y'all having a threesome.

01:33:22 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no. No.

01:33:24 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 1:

One and done on the dating, eh? Why no second date? Second date update happens at 820. I'm Mojo in the Morning.

01:33:32 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show. I can tell you guys there's a quick, funny story. I was told last night that I had to change my clothes by not just Chelsea, but Luke, too. So Luke had a girl come over to the house last night.

01:33:49 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he's home from college. Yeah. And I was like, why is he home?

01:33:52 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 3:

He's got a friend that comes over. Don't call her girlfriend because for some reason I say, oh, Luke's girlfriend's coming over and he gives me like weird looks and she's a girl and she's a friend. Why can't I call her? And I don't know officially what they, if they even, whatever. Nice girl.

01:34:07 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 4:

She's been over multiple times though.

01:34:08 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 3:

No. This is the first time she's ever been to the house. First time, as Kevin would say, it's the first time she's been at the crib. and so she was coming over to the house for the first time and we're excited i get excited when my kids you know bring friends over guys girls whoever and uh chelsea goes hey can you do me a favor she goes can you go to the bedroom and change your pants and i said why do i change my pants he goes well luke's got a friend coming over and i go okay what's wrong with that what's wrong with my pants well those pants are the bad pants and i go what do you mean the bad pants she goes every time that you wear those pants i don't know if you realize it your ass hangs out

01:34:40 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:34:40 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 3:

And I said, what? And she goes, yeah, Luke calls them your ass pants. And I said, what are you talking about? And she goes, yeah, Luke says that dad's wearing the ass pants because every time you wear them, and it's funny.

01:34:51 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 4:

What pants are they?

01:34:52 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

So they're like Lululemon pants, but they don't officially, like, fit me. And honestly, I have a hard time keeping pants up anyway because I got this.

01:35:00 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 2:

you know, uh, frog butt. So if I get up off this couch like this, there've been times where Luke and his friends are all hanging out on the couch and I get off of the couch. All of a sudden my name for them though. Like official. It's my ass pants. So, um, so I go, Oh, okay. No problem. I gotta figure out how to get back on this chair. Cause I got the one arm. So, so I go, all right, no problem. So I go and I change my pants and she comes over and I have a different pair of pants on. And actually I said to Chelsea, I go, all right, I gotta make sure I tie these ones up. Cause you know, sometimes they'll, they'll slide down on me, but it brought up something really funny. And I think that we could do a quick round of phone calls on this one. What was it that you used to get embarrassed by when your friends would come over to your house and your parents were either wearing or not wearing something? Like, are there any parents or any dads that ever would be, like, shirtless. My dad used to be shirtless all the time. He would come home, and the moment he would walk in the door, the man would put no shirts on. He'd wear shorts with no shirt on. And people would come over, and he had no problem. Like, nobody was telling Doc to put a shirt on. The second one that was funny was, it reminds me of, we had a buddy of ours whose mom had the biggest boobs I have ever seen in my life. And I realize now as an adult, I don't think she ever wore a bra. She had ginormous boobs. And I wondered why he never, when he would have friends come over, tell his mom put a bra on. Did they sit up or they swam? They were all over the place. They were all over the place. We would be sitting. They had one of those really comfy, like, circular couches that literally, I don't know, it was like one of those love sack couches. And they would have this thing. And we would all be hanging out and we'd be watching movies. And she would be looking for something in the couch. and she'd hang there and i'm telling you she'd hang there and they would go oh my god you know what they looked like it looked like the game with the balls um eight eight four four mojo live eight four four six six five six five four eight did you ever have embarrassing time so my mom had

01:37:08 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 5:

this pink bathrobe i can never forget it and kind of similar to your story my mom didn't have really big boobs but she you know you're wearing a robe and you would loosely tie it so if i had friends or something spend the night or it'd be late at night or early in the morning and she would come down in the bathrobe and she was you know doing the dishes or whatever bending down to feed the dogs and it was just you got a full view of boob in this robe and the pink bathrobe and if you missed the bus that's what you got driven to school in yeah the pink bathrobe how about if you

01:37:37 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 2:

forgot something and she had to run to the bus did she ever have that happen oh if we forgot

01:37:41 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 5:

something you were yeah the ball thing is newton's cradle is that what it is called to google it

01:37:48 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Initial N is voice disguise. What's going on? We're talking about, what was it? What were your parents' ass pants, I guess we'll call it. What's up?

01:37:57 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 1:

It was my father's ass pants. So it was when my cousins would come over. We had a nickname for his little shorts that he would wear. And one time he came out of the bedroom and the back piece of his shorts were like slapped off and his whole ass was hanging out.

01:38:15 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 2:

and thank god it was your cousins that you said we're coming over right i mean yeah it was because if it's like a boy from school or like a friend of yours like your friend group coming over that's embarrassing hi sarah what's up hey hey what's going on uh well every time growing up

01:38:38 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 3:

i would have sleepovers and the next morning my mom would make us breakfast and she would always

01:38:43 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 5:

wear a white beater without a bra oh no you know what i threw on a white tank top the other night with my pajama pants and went downstairs and did the same thing wasn't wearing a bra and now that there are you know other kids in the house too that are not lucy and smith and used to me doing that i was like i think i can't do this anymore could you see i feel like my kids will say the

01:39:06 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 3:

same about me i'll walk around in my robe and i'm like i shouldn't be doing this in front of my

01:39:10 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 2:

his friend yeah when you notice mom's nipples basically and can see them through whatever the article of clothing is or dad's privates his penis uh what's up diana what's going on

01:39:22 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

hi there um so my dad would mow the lawn in a speedo no oh my god that's mortifying and so all the neighbor wives or would stand on their porches and watch and my mom was in

01:39:37 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 2:

bikini so they both did it in very little clothing a speedo of all things your poor neighborhood having to deal with that india what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi hi hi what's up so

01:39:52 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

my mom used to uh sit on the bed at the edge of her bed bottoms on no top no bra

01:40:00 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 2:

So I never would have company on at all. I never would have them over at all. And to this day, I realize I do it to my kids. I'm like, I come home and I take everything off and I'm just walking around, whatever. And my kids, they're used to it. And so I realized my daughter gets in the bed and sleeps with me and she didn't have a bottom on. And I'm like, oh, we both can't do this. This is not, uh-uh, nope. No way.

01:40:22 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 6:

How soon does that bra come off the moment you walk in the house from work?

01:40:26 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's in the car. I'm like taking it off in the car. and I'm so tired. I'm like, it got to go off. I got to get it off.

01:40:33 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 6:

Got to have a relief. That's it. I love it. It's time to hit the whistle at the end of the workday. Pull that sucker off. What's up, Kristen? Hi.

01:40:42 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time long time. Hey there.

01:40:47 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

01:40:50 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 4:

So my grandpa actually adopted me. And anytime friends would come over or anything, My grandpa would wear a buttoned-up shirt, never have it buttoned up. And let's just say he had the biggest beer belly.

01:41:07 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I thought you were going to say something.

01:41:09 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 4:

Where is this going? So that was always pleasant.

01:41:14 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 6:

What a great guy, though. What a sweetheart. The unfortunate thing is you don't want your friends seeing that stuff. Conch, your dad would walk around in just a towel?

01:41:24 - 01:41:24 | Unknown:

What?

01:41:26 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm Indian. I'm from South India. My parents are from Chennai, India. Yeah. And it's very common for South Indian men to wear, it's like a long cotton sheet, and they tie it around their waist like a towel. It goes down to their ankles. It's called a lungi. And so my dad used to wear this lungi around the house, and my friends would come over, and they'd be like, why is your dad wearing a sheet? I didn't get that sheet.

01:41:52 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 6:

Wait, did he have anything on underneath it, like underwear or anything?

01:41:55 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, no.

01:41:57 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no.

01:41:58 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 5:

South Indian men like to free bone. Oh, my gosh. Oh, God damn.

01:42:04 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 6:

That's a beautiful thing. How about Amanda's mom used to run around the house naked in front of her friends? Is that right?

01:42:14 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yeah, my mom is the naked mom. She would run, like, to the bathroom from her room, and, like, my friends would be over. And, like, my best friend, Carrie, she's seen my mom naked plenty of times.

01:42:30 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 6:

Would boys ever come over? Did they ever see your mom?

01:42:34 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't, you know, probably. I can't remember. I probably blocked that part out.

01:42:40 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 6:

That's so funny. The naked mom. It's so wild, too, because it was always the friends of mine, like the, you know, buddy of mine whose mom had the big boobs, that you didn't want to see naked. And then there was, like, the one or two guys that they had the moms that were, like, the hot moms. Please, please, please, please. And you're like, oh, God. It was like a dream come true.

01:42:58 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, charging fast toward the end of the show. Man boobs bouncing and all. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:43:04 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 6:

What a sight. All right.

01:43:07 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:43:09 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 6:

We're going to find out why you're not getting a call back after you went out on a date. Why are you being ghosted? Kenny is getting ghosted this morning. Kenny, where did you guys meet? We met at the Tin Roof. Oh, okay. So you guys went out, just hung out with each other, or did you have other people that you were out with?

01:43:27 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they were like mutual friends, and we're hanging out at the bar, and then we were getting drinks, and then we kind of broke off, and we were walking around the city and just talking. Yeah, I know she was laughing at my jokes, and I thought we were getting along really well. So, yeah, this whole thing is just weird. And I heard from her since.

01:43:45 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 6:

The date ended with you guys saying, hey, we're going to go out again?

01:43:50 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and we kissed. So I was like, okay, that's a really good sign.

01:43:55 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:43:56 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 1:

And I really felt we had a great time.

01:43:59 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 6:

But you have not heard from her since that night, and you're wondering what's going on. We're going to find out what's happening. Alina is on with us right now. Hey, Alina, will you say hi to Kenny?

01:44:10 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you doing? I'm okay. How are you? Good. Just kind of, you know, I know this is a little awkward,

01:44:18 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 6:

just wondering you know what happened uh well um do you want us to help you here uh alina how are

01:44:29 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 2:

you doing alina you doing good i'm fine this is just weird but yes okay so you guys so explain

01:44:37 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 6:

this to me alina so you were there with friends kenny was there with friends did your friend did

01:44:43 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 5:

you guys all know each other or was it just you guys were hanging out at the bar well so we were hanging at the bar but like i i told my friends about him and my

01:45:00 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 4:

My friends, like, knew of him and said that he's a player and he talks to, like, every girl. And, like, he's a big player.

01:45:10 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 1:

Wait, is that true, Kenny?

01:45:12 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 4:

He's not going to admit that. I guess I used to be a player when I was younger, but I'm trying to settle down now. Like, that's not the person I am now.

01:45:21 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Who is this friend? How did she know? Did she know him in real life or is this hearsay? She said friends, like, plural. I mean, did they date him?

01:45:30 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 4:

none of them have dated him but they knew people who have dated him so they like he's like famous in the i guess in the friend community

01:45:43 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 3:

you are a world renowned guy that's hard because you want to formulate your own opinion about somebody especially after you have a great date however i know how i would feel about that like That would mess with my head right off the bat, and I think I'd be doing the same thing. I don't know.

01:46:05 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 2:

Say, for example, in your situation, because you've made it known that Wes has had a pass. Oh, yeah.

01:46:10 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Wes won't tell me his number. Wes was 100 million percent a player. But he's not there anymore. Right. And you gave him an opportunity. Yeah, I mean, yeah.

01:46:20 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 2:

I feel like this is the same situation. He said he was a player back in the day. Doesn't mean he should have to pay for his previous sins.

01:46:26 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 3:

What is his definition of back in the day? like a year ago if all of her friends are coming forward to say oh yeah we know this guy what did

01:46:33 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 1:

they say alina specifically about kenny he just like he just like you know hooks up and you know

01:46:43 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 4:

tries to get with like a ton of girls and like i don't want to i just don't want to be another

01:46:49 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 1:

number another girl for this guy all right 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to just ask this question should you go off of what others say about somebody when you're going out or are their references tainted because it sounds to me like the night you guys had was great was it am i right in saying that like going off of nobody said anything to you would you be out with him on

01:47:18 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 3:

another date yeah probably okay the problem here is it's not one reference it's multiple and that's where it puts the pressure on of um maybe there's some truth to this but also are they dealing with

01:47:32 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 1:

it because they heard rumors sure because i think that that's the problem sometimes too is that i think that sometimes people will talk crap about somebody and and then it's a game of telephone And also, Kenny admitted, back in his past, I mean, can a guy change? I mean, that's something I think that you have to understand, too. I don't think everybody's the same person that they are today that they were yesterday. Let me take some calls here. Let me see what Kelly thinks. Kelly, what are your thoughts on this? Hi.

01:48:01 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 5:

So, I have actually been with a guy for 10 years, and one of my friends said the same thing about him before we started dating.

01:48:09 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. And why did you?

01:48:11 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 5:

He kind of warned me about him. She was like, well, I hear he gets around, he does this, he does that. And I said, well, first of all, how do you know I'm not wanting the same thing?

01:48:19 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:48:20 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 5:

I said, but I wanted to have my own opinion of him. I didn't want to take anybody else's opinion. So I just kind of took it with a grain of salt. And I was like, okay, let me just have that as a guard. And we've been together for 10 years.

01:48:35 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Thank God you didn't go off of that opinion.

01:48:38 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I didn't because he was somebody completely different than what she was telling me about anyways. And I come to find out she actually had a crush on him.

01:48:46 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 1:

So you never know how to do the same thing. I mean, that's something. I don't know, Alina, if you vetted these friends of yours to figure out if these friends of yours have good intentions in mind when it comes to your relationship life. Lauren, what are your thoughts? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:02 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So I just wanted to say that I used to be a player myself. And I feel like I agree 100% with what you guys are saying of where, you know, your past can't be used for current judgment. So if you are, you know, like if someone is interested in you, then they should take the experience that's happening in the present and base their feelings off of that. and a lot everyone has an opinion everyone has something to say but it's up to you to decide if you want to go off your own opinion or if you want to listen to what others are feeding into you

01:49:39 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 1:

you know what changed your your ways what changed you to become uh not a player

01:49:45 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 6:

um well for one it was really tiring trying to keep up with having multiple like entertaining multiple people and i did meet somebody who i've been with now for three years we're having a baby together.

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 4:

Congratulations.

01:50:02 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

That's nice.

01:50:02 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and it just was a good, like, having a connection with somebody, and that made me change. Like, I didn't want to be out and doing whatever, having meaningless affairs with people. Like, I wanted something that was more, you know?

01:50:18 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 8:

Good for you. Well, congratulations on that, and congratulations on the baby. What's up, Jennifer? Hi.

01:50:24 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:50:25 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 8:

Hello.

01:50:25 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted to see that if this was her and his friends were saying that she's a hoe and she slept around with a lot of guys, you know, he would feel the same way.

01:50:36 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 8:

Maybe not. But I will say this to you. Well, that's true. Maybe he might be interested in that. But I also will say this to you. I think there is a double standard to giving this guy the bad reputation off of this friend circle thing. if this was a girl and he came on the air with us and said hey i heard that she's kind of a hoe or whatever the deal is like you said i think that our listeners like you would be more defensive towards hey you can't you know talk about that about a girl i think it's easier to call a guy a hoe than it is to call a woman a hoe and get away with it on just other people's comments

01:51:14 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 4:

right

01:51:16 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 8:

and I feel bad for you Kenny I do feel bad about this whole thing because at what point do you get to change your reputation you know you get to get a chance I think what you guys did was commendable and the fact that you guys weren't meeting on an app somewhere you guys actually went out and had conversation with each other and hung out with each other at a bar

01:51:36 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 3:

exactly it's not like we hooked up if I was a player don't you think I would have tried to do that you know it was just a nice night

01:51:43 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 8:

Well, that's interesting. Come on, man. Preach. All right. Give him a chance, man. Maybe he's their friend. Prove your friends wrong. Think about it, Alina. All right? Mm-hmm. Second date update. It ain't happening. I know.

01:52:38 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 1:

A huge update in the infamous Menendez brothers case yesterday. Eric and Lyle now eligible for parole after more than three decades behind bars.

01:52:49 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 7:

This morning, the Menendez brothers reacting after being resentenced for the 1989 shotgun murders of their parents. Eric Menendez telling ABC News, I cannot be more grateful for the loving encouragement and dear friends who have emotionally uplifted us. adding, I want so much to bring healing to the family after 35 years and having caused so much trauma. A judge late yesterday vacated the life without parole sentence for Eric and Lyle Menendez, resentencing them to 50 years to life in prison. That means they're now eligible for parole.

01:53:23 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Finally, after 35 years, you have brought hope to this family that we didn't see.

01:53:29 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 7:

Outside court, Eric's wife hugging their attorney who insisted the brothers have been rehabilitated. The Menendez brothers have done remarkable work and today is a great day after 35 years. The judge ruling after the brothers on a video link from prison read statements taking accountability for the killings which they have long claimed followed years of abuse. Lyle Menendez telling the judge I killed my mom and dad adding I give no excuses. Eric saying my actions were criminal, selfish, and cowardly.

01:54:00 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 6:

But the brothers said left very few dry eyes in court because they assumed full responsibility for the grisly murders of their parents. They said, yes, we did go to reload. Yes, we lied about it afterwards.

01:54:12 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 7:

A retired judge also testified the brothers changed his views on inmate rehabilitation, citing their work in prison, helping the elderly and a former inmate emotional speaking about the programs the Menendez brothers started, saying they're the reason he left gang life behind if not for lyle and eric i may not have believed that for myself as early as i did it could take months before the menendez brothers also they're not out a parole date for the resentencing and the parole board must still agree it's very probable that during the holidays they

01:54:44 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 2:

will be at the table with family members enjoying their first holidays you asked a question and i

01:54:49 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 1:

don't know if he said it but i thought june 13th is their parole hearing yeah i thought they

01:54:55 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 8:

They re-sentenced them and said, you're no longer in jail. They actually just re-sentenced them to get parole.

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 3:

for parole freedom boys but that's big i mean that's a big step in that case by the way it's

01:55:05 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 4:

funny that story makes them sound like they were angels they still admitted that they cocked the gun and fired it you know and went and reloaded it and all that stuff but they never brought in the abuse that these kids endured right yeah exactly kim kardashian taking the stand in

01:55:19 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 3:

paris yesterday to testify in the trial over her 2016 robbery she told the court she absolutely thought her life was going to end on that fateful night. A statement written by one of the defendants following his arrest in 2017 was read aloud in the courtroom yesterday. In it, the 69-year-old robber, remember all of them in their late 60s, early 70s, apologized to Kim. He said he felt awful for what he was a part of, especially after he saw her on TV just very emotional and crying about it while the letter was read in court in fact yesterday kim grew emotional she actually turned face to face with this man and she said to him i do appreciate your letter i forgive you for what has taken place but it doesn't change the emotion and the feelings and the trauma the way that my life is forever changed ahead of this year's can film festival there are some new rules no more nudity on the red carpet you can't show your cans at cans no more dresses like Sianca Sensory wore recently and no voluminous outfits, in particular, those that have long trains. Anything that could clog the red carpet from moving, you know, at an efficient speed is a big no. That last minute change is complicating things for some A-listers, including I saw yesterday, Oscar winner Halle Berry had an amazing dress she was going to wear last night for opening night. She had to swap it out at the very last minute.

01:56:45 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 4:

What, she was going to show off more of herself?

01:56:48 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 3:

self? No, the train was too long. So it was that second classification.

01:56:51 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 4:

I think it also, it keeps the whole Kanye's wife thing from happening where she wears a nude dress and stuff too.

01:56:59 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 3:

And congrats to Drake. He has achieved his 40th number one hit on Billboard's rhythmic chart with his single Nokia.

01:57:09 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 4:

You know what? And if Tony Travato has got a problem with this in our podcast, the letter of the law

01:57:15 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

is about the song. It's his first number one on that chart since 2023's Rich Baby Daddy, which featured, of course, Sexy Ryder and SZA. Missed out on the chart last year and ended a 15-year run with at least one number one since 2009. But still, he now holds that record, Rihanna, currently in second place with 17 number ones on the rhythmic chart.

01:57:41 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 4:

I like it.

01:57:42 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. It's going to be an interesting time this weekend. God, I want to be a fly on the freaking wall. I don't know. You ever feel this way sometimes? Do you ever feel like you want to be a fly on the wall when you have friends of yours that are having to deal with some issues with their parents? Well, our friend Lydia.

01:58:31 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe I'm 27 and this is a topic that I'm doing.

01:58:35 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 4:

But here we are. Here we are, Lydia. Lydia's got something interesting going on this weekend.

01:58:41 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we have the More Mojo podcast on Friday, and Drew is coming into town for it, and he's going to be staying for the entire weekend.

01:58:51 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 4:

Who be Drew?

01:58:52 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

Drew is a guy that I'm talking to at the moment. And he's coming in. Can we say where he's coming in from? Yes, so he's coming in from Phoenix, Arizona.

01:59:00 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Drew is the infamous guy that we've talked about on the show that Lydia, you know, had, we explained the whole Deez Nuts things. these nuts drew but then lydia's parents met him and his family went to their house but doesn't your dad know that there's something going on between the two of you guys he knows that we're

01:59:22 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

friends so that's all he knows as of now and drew and his dad texted my dad letting him know that drew was coming into town and so my dad was like oh that's perfect we can all get breakfast together this weekend and i was thinking okay so we're gonna go get breakfast on sunday but i'm spending friday and saturday withdrew alone so it's it's gonna be really awkward if my dad doesn't know

01:59:46 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 4:

wait when your dad knows he's a friend do you think that your dad still got his you know headed in uh in the clouds with what a friend means a guy friend means i think so no you think you

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

don't think he knows that it's more than that i'm not gonna tell him

02:00:00 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, I haven't told him, I guess that's the story here, is that I haven't told him that I'm going to be spending Friday and Saturday with him, but I think once I say that, or if I were to, he's going to know that there's something more going on. Does your mom know? Oh, yeah. Science? Cool. My mom calls herself mother-in-law already. I haven't even made the title of boyfriend or girlfriend. You know what we need to do?

02:00:18 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 5:

Real quick, I'm sorry. I'm just thinking, you need to make it look like you're in your bed with like a bunch of pillows and like-

02:00:26 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 3:

That's what I was going to say. You're going where I'm going. Is it a situation where your mom would lie for you and make it look like you were sleeping in your bed full damn well knowing that you were not there?

02:00:38 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 2:

She told me to lie. She's like, tell your dad that you're going out with your friend Shamir for two days. And I'm like, that is crazy for me to, like, explain that I'm going to spend Friday and Saturday with a friend who already lives here. You're a legend.

02:00:52 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 5:

Your mom would lie to your dad? What?

02:00:54 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 2:

She will.

02:00:55 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

02:00:56 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

I told her I won't come home pregnant.

02:00:58 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 5:

She wanted her baby to get her eggs, Craig.

02:01:01 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, I'll sleep in your bed for you. I'll act as Lydia. Oh, real? That would actually fly.

02:01:06 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you that this is an interesting one? Because if your dad really likes him enough to make a breakfast plan on Sunday, what if your dad were to cancel breakfast plans on Sunday when you're not there on Friday or Saturday because he knows that you were doing a little premarital fornication?

02:01:25 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't think he would cancel the plans, though.

02:01:27 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 5:

You don't think so?

02:01:28 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 2:

No, but if he thought that we were having sex, he probably would.

02:01:31 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, you're not having sex. You better not be.

02:01:33 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 2:

I'm not.

02:01:34 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 5:

Let's not do that, Lydia. Let's wait until marriage. If you're going to go, go all the way. Make it a real deal. Of course you would. You're the same guy that got pink eye from some girl.

02:01:45 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 4:

We haven't talked about that on the air.

02:01:49 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 2:

And some people are texting and saying, my dad knows now that we said it on the air. He might know later, but he's still sleeping, I think. And he does not listen, right? No.

02:01:57 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 5:

He doesn't listen to us. He listens to the station out of Dearborn.

02:02:01 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 2:

There's like an AM Chaldean station.

02:02:03 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the AM.

02:02:04 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 2:

Is that really a Chaldean station? I don't know. They're all just dope.

02:02:07 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes you ever flip through the dial and all of a sudden you run across the station and you're like, oh, my God, this is Al Jazeera, like, right, or something on there. Like, what is going on here? Okay, so, all right, so this is an interesting one. So has anybody ever had to sneak out of the house from their parents, like, for a weekend, spend a weekend with a boy? 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. I love that mom also would lie for you that she's willing to put her relationship with your dad on the line.

02:02:35 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 3:

Those are the stories I want to hear if you have a mom that lied for you.

02:02:39 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 2:

Now that would piss him off more than anything.

02:02:42 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 5:

He'd be less pissed off at you and more pissed off at his wife for doing that.

02:02:45 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I kind of like that. Deflection.

02:02:48 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 5:

What do you think this is going to happen with? I think it's interesting that Drew's dad also contacted your dad. That shows very much respect.

02:02:56 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 2:

They're good friends now.

02:02:58 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 5:

It's kind of nice. This is kind of nice. It's an arranged marriage of sorts. But your dad actually didn't know Drew and his dad beforehand. You know, you kind of introduced them to each other. This is the part where Lydia can't talk to us during this topic because she's got to grab phones, too. I know, I know. You know, we multitask. We get some multitasking during this time.

02:03:18 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm excited that he's going to be hanging out with us during the podcast on Friday. I'm talking about Drew, not Lydia's dad, because we'll get to...

02:03:26 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 5:

We should have Lydia's dad there, too. That's what we make the announcement a little bit. You mean this podcast can get fun? It gets fun fast that way. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. On this, this is why I don't have daughters. God did not give me daughters because I would have a hard time with something like this. And it's funny because I definitely treat my sons differently. you know like chelsea's the it's funny how chelsea's very strict with our sons where she won't let them have their girlfriends stay over at the house or boyfriends stay over at the house unless they're married where i would be more willing to do that but if i had a daughter she'd have a chastity belt around that freaking thing what's going on nicole hi yes so being what lydia is chaldean you have to hide your relationships right until you're about to either get married or something even i don't know more than that maybe have children

02:04:36 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

right well i they know that i'm dating him they just don't know that i spend the night with them

02:04:42 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 5:

oh where did so where do they think you are at night where do you do um so i'm a nanny so i just stay working overnight family you lied to this the family that you nanny for help you lie

02:04:56 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

uh no but

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 5:

But I find ways to do it. Okay.

02:05:03 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask you a question? Because I know, and Lydia, please correct me if I'm wrong here with this information. In the Chaldean culture, and I think there are some other cultures that this is the case as well, you cannot introduce a man to your dad, in most cases, family, unless it is very, very serious and you're about to get engaged, right? Sorry, I was listening to a call at the same time. Yes. Okay. Yeah, so at that moment, aren't the dads like, well, how have you been, you know, how did this relationship happen to the point where you know you're going to want to spend the rest of your life? They're not about test driving.

02:05:36 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 1:

They do not like test driving at all. They want you to buy the car before you test drive.

02:05:40 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 3:

Like, they have to know that over a certain course of time, there's been a relationship formulated, right?

02:05:45 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't think they're dumb. I think as the generations kind of grow and get a little bit more modernized, I think it's gotten a lot less strict. But I think that the daughters try to keep it as clean as possible because they just don't want their dads going crazy. Like a lot of my guy friends that are Chaldean, they are guys that – because I have Chaldean guy friends that are in their 30s all the way up to 50s. And I, a lot of the ones that have like daughters, they're not dumb. They know what's going on, you know, but I also think that they don't want their daughter sleeping over at the other guy's house, you know, right. Uh, Shelly, what's up?

02:06:25 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. So I agree with everything you guys are saying. However, there's no harm in testing the chemistry because we all know the best way for a successful lasting marriage is to find the G spot. Oh God.

02:06:43 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 1:

You went from testing the chemistry to going about the G spot. I don't want to know about that.

02:06:48 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 6:

You can get over any argument, Mojo, any issue.

02:06:51 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 1:

But if they can't get to the G.

02:06:53 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Visit that spot, it's all good, I'm just saying. Yes.

02:06:59 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, will you be testing?

02:07:01 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Lord.

02:07:03 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Hannah? Or Hannah, what's going on?

02:07:05 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 5:

How are you? I'm good. How are you guys?

02:07:08 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on?

02:07:08 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

So, I'm Albanian, and growing up, we had to lie to my dad. If you wanted to have a life, you had to lie to my dad and my brother. So, when we were driving, I remembered his license plate number just in case, so that when we were driving, we would, like, duck if we were in the car with a guy or anything, because he would know, like, they were crazy. But it was more so just because we wanted to not embarrass them, but we had to live a little.

02:07:34 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Yes. That is so funny, though. You had to duck in the car because your dad or brother were driving. Who were you more fearful of, your dad or your brother?

02:07:42 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 5:

My brother. I didn't want to tell him I got engaged. I was so afraid.

02:07:46 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's wild. You got engaged and you're afraid to tell him that. What's going on, Darren? How you doing?

02:07:52 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. First thing, first time on. Yeah. There you go. I got you. All right. Darren on the phone.

02:07:59 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 1:

Darren sounds like me trying to put a sentence together today. What's going on?

02:08:02 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I guess so. So one time, a few years ago, when I first started dating my girlfriend, I was still with my parents, and they were all mad at me for something. And I ended up sneaking my girlfriend in the house through the front porch, tried to, and then didn't know my dad was still awake. He opens the front door. She tried to hide, knock something over, and made a big bang. And he's like, oh, is something out there? I'm like, no, no. Just that knocked over or something. I walked inside. We're talking for a little bit. And I finally got her sneak in the window and they didn't know until literally a few months ago. I just told them.

02:08:37 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's wild, man. I got to tell you that that's pretty bold to do that in, in, to have, you know, the whole sneaking in through a window type thing.

02:08:46 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 3:

But isn't this so tough as a parent of kids who, I mean, you have one that's about to get married and you have another that's in a very serious relationship. And then Luke, like you said, is bringing home a girl tonight, whether it's a girlfriend or not. like you want to meet the people that they are dating you want to meet the people that they are in a relationship with because you you know you you're going to have feelings and opinions and as the kid i would want my parents to go ah you know to give me their opinion i don't want them

02:09:16 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 1:

hiding it from me because to me if they're hiding it from me they're not being careful with what

02:09:20 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 3:

they're doing you know but also if this is somebody that could potentially be a part of your family You want to get to know them. Absolutely.

02:09:27 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Hey, you're being voice disguised. A is on the phone. You're Chaldean?

02:09:31 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am.

02:09:33 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:09:34 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

First time, long time. Hey, Chaldean on the phone. Hi. Yeah, so I'm Chaldean, and my dad's motto about life is don't tell anyone until you're finished. And so that just applies to everything I guess. So I asked him explicitly, when it comes to relationships, you don't want me to tell you until I'm finished? Until I'm married? And he explicitly...

02:10:00 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 4:

said yes wow so it's interesting don't tell him to finish i it's funny as a as a dad that's a difference because an american dad like americanized dad like some white dude would honestly want to show off his gun collection so that every guy knew that i'll kill you if you do anything to my daughters it's just understood in the chaldean tradition chaldean faith that hey you do anything with my daughters not only you got me to deal with but you got the brother to deal with too

02:10:29 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Exactly.

02:10:30 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 4:

Lydia, do you ever wonder about your brother? Worried about, you know, with this guy? Like, how will your brother be with you?

02:10:36 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my brother won't care. My brother, at one point, when I was dating a guy and he got married, he actually got me and my boyfriend a hotel room.

02:10:43 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. For his wedding. Who's this guy? My brother. I don't know. Tom, what did you want to say? Okay, so it's not that deep, you guys.

02:10:53 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 5:

Every Chaldean out there that's listening right now has a first cousin that they have married.

02:11:02 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 3:

Tom, do you call every day and use a different name? No, no, he's always Tom.

02:11:08 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 4:

He's always Tom. Oh, he is? This is Tom, the funeral home guy. Okay. Yeah. Tom knows this because Tom lives out by me where all the Chaldeans live. It is kind of interesting, isn't it? I don't know if they're first cousins, but they are married to a lot of their cousins. No, they're first cousins, Jim.

02:11:24 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 5:

I love it. I've seen it all the time.

02:11:27 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:11:28 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 5:

This guy's a white guy, though.

02:11:31 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 4:

This guy is a non-Kaldean guy, by the way.

02:11:34 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm just saying, everyone that's listening out there is probably spitting their coffee in their lap. They have a cousin, first cousin, that married another first cousin.

02:11:44 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 4:

And, Tom, what kind of cars are they driving? Escalates. Escalates. Escalates. And what color are the Escalades? Black, of course. No, no, they're white. They're white. The guys drive the black ones. The wives drive the white ones. Okay. All right, we'll talk to you later. This is going to be an interesting weekend for Lydia. We'll see what happens. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:12:16 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:12:18 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Live. We're paying your bills coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, so we're going to give you a chance to get your bills paid. Coming up here next. First, though, I want to tell you, if you want to be on Five Lies, tell your mom. Next week's Five Lies could be you calling your mom up. Text mom and then tell us what would be your lie that would set your mom off. Text mom to 95500 and tell us what your lie would be. This is a good one today.

02:12:44 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Sweet.

02:12:48 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama.

02:12:50 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Maddie. Hi. Are you in school right now?

02:12:55 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm ******.

02:12:56 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay, where are you right now?

02:13:00 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Somewhere like, like, there's like, I'm in the hallway, but like, I'm more to the side.

02:13:05 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so you're just kind of hanging out in the hallway right now at school to do a five lies to tell your mom. We're going to call your mom up, and we're going to have you do these five lies and see what your mom's reaction is to them, okay?

02:13:18 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 6:

All right.

02:13:19 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 4:

All right, here we go. Lie number one, you're going to say, I got in trouble at school. Lie number two.

02:13:25 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 3:

Say, I fought with Mr. B*** again.

02:13:27 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, is that a teacher that you fought with before?

02:13:31 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a lot of times. Actually, I almost fought with him again today.

02:13:33 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. All right. Lie number three. I told that man I don't know how he has a sex life. Oh, my God. Lie number four. and I made fun of him for his wife calling him kitten. How did we come up with that lie? That is a dumbest lie. That is a true thing.

02:13:55 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 2:

I overheard that. You overheard? Wait, his wife calls him kitten? They're on the phone together.

02:14:00 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 4:

Wow. I overheard it. And lie number five?

02:14:03 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 3:

Say he got in my face so I pushed him and now they're suspending me for a week.

02:14:09 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. All right. So this is all not lies. These are all truths, probably, and hopefully, Maddie, you don't do something like this. All right, here we go. We're calling your mom up to see what your mom's reaction is going to be. You ready?

02:14:21 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:14:32 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 6:

Hello? Hello? Maddie? Hey, Mom. Don't be mad, but, um, I kind of got in trouble at school.

02:14:50 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 5:

What did you do?

02:14:53 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 6:

Um, I fought with Mr. B**** again.

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 5:

And?

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 1:

And what did you do?

02:15:02 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 2:

Um, I told him that I don't know how he has a sex life, and he kind of just started screaming at me, and they sent me down to the office.

02:15:16 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 1:

Excuse me, why would you even ask that?

02:15:23 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 2:

He, like, he just, like, um, like, he started, like, getting in my face and everything. So, like, I, like, pushed him back.

02:15:37 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 1:

You touched him? You pushed him? You literally pushed him?

02:15:42 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes. And I kind of made fun of him for his wife calling him a kitten, which I honestly don't regret that.

02:15:50 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 1:

Maddie! So, let me guess. I got to go up to the school. You're probably, what, getting suspended? Yeah, I'm suspended for a week. oh my god you're gonna be grounded for like 10 months yeah i don't regret any of this i will do it again if i need to no you will not you know better than that excuse me no i will pull you out of that school and you will go to a different one that is very disrespectful that is very disrespectful and I have taught you much better than that

02:16:33 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean he deserves it

02:16:35 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 1:

no I will be coming up there and you will be apologizing to him no I'm not oh yes you are I am not I will make sure for it I don't even know what to say I taught you better than this.

02:16:54 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 3:

Maddie's mom? Yeah. Hi, it's Mr. B***. You can call me kitten.

02:17:03 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 1:

What?

02:17:04 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

02:17:07 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 1:

I'm okay, a little pissed off.

02:17:09 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 3:

I get it. I'm a little upset, too. She's making fun of me, and she's not very kind.

02:17:16 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 1:

I know that's very disrespectful. I just told her I was going to come up there and make her apologize to you.

02:17:21 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate that. I don't know what I would be more upset with, the fact that my nickname is Kitten or the fact that I have to tell you that you're on the Mojo in the Morning Show, Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:17:38 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 1:

No, you're joking. Meow. We are not joking. I'm literally putting on my shoes and getting ready to run out the door. Sounds like you've done this a few times. No, she's a really good kid, so I didn't understand where she got it from.

02:18:00 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 3:

I got to be honest with you. She's not good. She is not good. She's one of those ones that their parents think that they're good, but the truth comes out eventually.

02:18:09 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just wait until I pick her up from school.

02:18:11 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I love the fact that you know that your teacher's nickname with his wife is Kitten.

02:18:19 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 2:

Also very strange.

02:18:20 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I overheard him on call before. Like Big Dog might be better or something. When you said kitten, I'm all like, excuse me, why are you telling me your nickname?

02:18:30 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 3:

Did you know that Maddie knows that her teacher's nickname with his wife, that she calls him his kitten? She's overheard the teacher's wife call him kitten.

02:18:40 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 1:

She's a little nosy. She likes to listen to conversations she's not supposed to.

02:18:48 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 3:

Maddie, there you go. Mom, you just won a prize for Maddie.

02:18:54 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 1:

My ears. Yay. Yay.

02:18:58 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 3:

Hold on and we'll get you set up with that, okay? Maddie, you've got to get to class.

02:19:02 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 1:

You got testing today.

02:19:04 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you better go to class.

02:19:06 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 1:

A good reminder that you're a hoarder the rest of the year.

02:19:59 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

This is my...

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning.

02:20:30 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 1:

let's go yes excited to announce our next couple couple number two that is going to be winning and mojo gives you a baby you know we have lots of people that will enter this contest i mean we're talking thousands of entries that we get for this contest uh to win ivf from ivf michigan and then we narrow it down to 10 finalists and then from the 10 finalists the listeners kind of get a voice of choice there and then it narrows down to the three that win and it's it's a big deal man I'm telling you this is this is life-changing I mean we do contests on our show that definitely are life-changing like paying bills with a thousand dollars an hour I mean just to be able to have a thousand dollars to offset some of the crazy stuff that you got going on financially or we just gave away a car just not that long ago um over at moran i mean helping teachers that was

02:21:30 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 4:

put items in their classrooms and kids have school supplies for school yeah well did we ever talk

02:21:36 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 1:

about by the way that the the lady who won from moran which is interesting because they do so much for the teachers was a teacher kindergarten teacher and she made a donation to breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Incredible, man. Did she really? Afterwards, yeah, she donated money.

02:21:49 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 2:

I love that.

02:21:50 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 1:

We've given away on our show, we've given away apartments to get you out of your parents' house. We've given away houses to people before. Boobs and teeth? Well, boobs and teeth are great, too. Yes, I'll tell you what, man. There's nothing worse than not having good teeth or nice boobs, I guess, right?

02:22:05 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 2:

You and Lydia pulled up on a homeless lady earlier this year.

02:22:08 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, Breaking and Entering is a whole different beast, but I'll tell you, That has grown to be one of the biggest proud things that I've ever done in radio. But I will say this, Mojo Gives You a Baby makes me proud too. Chelsea and I were having this conversation. Man, it was weird. We were getting into this. We were talking about how we were very, very lucky because we only tried to have one of our kids. And that was we tried to have Jacob. And it only took a couple of three weeks. Like it literally was she wanted to have kids like she really was focused on it. This is something we're going to do. And it took a couple, three weeks for us to get pregnant. That's a miracle. And we were talking about we wonder how it will be for the boys, you know, when they're getting ready to have kids. And I said, God, I hope that, you know, that they don't get faced with fertility issues. But it seems like there's a lot of fertility issues, you know, that people get faced with.

02:23:06 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 3:

It is not uncommon. And that's why I always say when I'm talking about IVF Michigan, if you think that you're alone in this, there are so many other people maybe that aren't sharing but that are struggling in that journey too.

02:23:18 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 1:

I look at these faces of the women and the men that have entered this contest and I think to myself, I don't know how we turn any of these people away. It's like breaking and entering Christmas wish in that regard because we get so many letters from people that want us to do this and you want to be able to help everybody. Dr. Shama is on the phone with us. Is Dr. Shama ready to go? Or I know he was with a patient. I don't want to take him away from a patient.

02:23:45 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 5:

No, I am here. Good morning. Good morning. Dr. Shama.

02:23:49 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 1:

Good to have you here. Are you ready to announce our next winners? Well, you can announce them.

02:23:56 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

He's like, I'll just talk.

02:23:58 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 1:

How many patients do you see a day, Dr. Shama?

02:24:03 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, actually, I don't know if you knew that, but we're part of a bigger network now, part of the pinnacle network. In the network, I see more patients than anyone nationally, actually. Wow. So in a day, I mean, we do anywhere between 10 to 15 surgeries sometimes in a day. Doctor. And this is just surgeries. And I would say maybe 10, 15 additional patients every single day. Wow.

02:24:32 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we sometimes sing while doing surgery. No, I'm joking.

02:25:04 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 5:

Right. Oh, I know. Well, here you go. Thank you for making me always feel like my job's important, Dr. Chama. You're the best.

02:25:11 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 3:

No, it is very important. You're amazing.

02:25:14 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, here we go. The winners of Mojo Gives You a Baby 2025, winners number two are Alan and Aiden from Kego Harbor, Michigan. Congratulations.

02:25:28 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Oh, I remember you guys because you both work in the medical field.

02:25:34 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you do. I actually met Aiden up at Henry Ford right now.

02:25:40 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had to take a little break to talk to you guys.

02:25:42 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's wonderful. So both of you guys are registered nurses?

02:25:47 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 2:

Yep. I work in the cardiac cath lab at Henry Ford, and he works in mental health and is in NP school right now at St. Mary's.

02:25:55 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Say hi to Dr. Shama, guys.

02:25:59 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Dr. Shama.

02:26:01 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much.

02:26:02 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

02:26:03 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're welcome. Good morning. Alan and Aiden, you two just got married recently, right? We did last week, actually.

02:26:10 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We were from Colorado and got married.

02:26:14 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 5:

That is incredible, guys. Well, we're going to make it.

02:26:17 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 3:

This is the wedding gift.

02:26:19 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:26:20 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 2:

This is the best wedding gift ever. It really is. It's a dream come true. And I really, we really couldn't have done it without all the people in our lives. My coworkers rallied everyone in my hospital seriously to vote for us. And my family, my friends, all of our family and friends really did their best and like went wild. So I can't thank them enough for everything too.

02:26:42 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 5:

So I can hear the emotion in your voice. That's Aiden. I can hear you.

02:26:47 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Aiden, may your dream come true. May your dream come true. I hope. For sure. I can't wait.

02:26:53 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 5:

Guys, this is amazing. that you guys don't have to worry about a wedding registry. Now we're going to have to worry about a baby registry, right?

02:27:01 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. This is the best thing ever. And we were very stressed about it because he just went contingent so he could focus on school. So it was going to be a big financial thing for us. So we're very thankful.

02:27:13 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 5:

Man. So, Alan, was last night a tough one for you as you knew that we were going to announce another winner today and we'll announce the last one on Friday. Were you guys a little worried about what was going on?

02:27:25 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we were. But honestly, we wish everybody could win, to be honest. But, you know, it is hurtful when they don't call your name. But, I mean, it is what it is. But, yeah, we were nervous for sure.

02:27:41 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 5:

Well, guys, we're looking forward to hearing from you on some great results. Your baby's going to be beautiful, by the way. Both of you are very good looking. At least we know they're going to have great teeth. It's going to be a very cute baby. Baby's going to have great teeth. They got good teeth in this family, too.

02:27:56 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 2:

And they're going to be long and lanky, too. That's great.

02:27:59 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 5:

Dr. Shama, do your magic. We'll get them their appointments.

02:28:05 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to try. And I have to add something to what they said. I wish we could have every single couple that applies make them winners. But then that's not humanly possible. But with that being said, we are here for them as a practice. and may God make everyone that wishes to have a baby for their dream to come true. And I know that one in eight couples have problems, so we're there for them.

02:28:30 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 5:

Alan and Aiden, congratulations to you guys. Have the best time. IVF Michigan, Ohio Fertility Centers, we love them so much. Dr. Shama's going back to see more patients, just like yourselves. So, doctor, I want to tell all your staff, thank you for allowing us to take some time out of your schedule for this.

02:28:52 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're more than welcome and the best of luck for everyone. And thank you, Mojo, for being a very, very good partner of ours for years and years. Always, always, always.

02:29:01 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 4:

And by the way, if you want more info about IVF Michigan. Oh, thank you. IVF-MI.com.

02:29:07 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Hassan makes us, by the way. You know what he does? He threatens us. He threatens that Shannon and I don't take care of Dr. Shama. Yeah, there is going to be a consequence. This is Haas' favorite client. No offense to any of the other clients, but he takes care of Dr. Shama because Dr. Shama is taking care of so many of our listeners. Alan and Aiden, I cannot wait to hear great results from you guys. Aiden, get back in there to work. I'm sure they're probably waiting for you.

02:29:34 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. This means the world's best. We love you guys. Thanks to everybody that helped us out.

02:29:40 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 5:

God bless you guys. Take care of yourselves.

02:29:42 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Have a good day.

02:29:43 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

All right, we'll see you. All right, well, that does it for that. Friday, we'll announce the last couple. Incredible. Yeah. All righty, what do we got here? Tate McCray tickets. Tate McCray, right now. Text the word.

02:30:00 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 6:

What should I do for a word? Let's do... Close. C-L-O-S-E. Close. C-L-O-S-E to 95500 to win tickets to see the sold-out Tate McRae concert. Standard text and data rates to apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, one last Dirty on the 30.

02:30:20 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 2:

So much going on today.

02:30:21 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 4:

For real.

02:30:22 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 6:

Then I'm eating leftover pizza that I have from lunch yesterday.

02:30:26 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 4:

Gluten-free? Sounds good.

02:30:27 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, it's from lunch two days ago, yes. I saw Tony Travato. He brings his own lunch every day. Did you notice that? He packs his lunch. He's got a lunchbox. Literally like a little boy in school. It's got like some superhero on it. And he brings his own lunch. And I thought, you know what? I'm always sitting here starving and wondering where I'm door dashing from. I spent a bunch of money. I'm going to bring food. So the first day I brought in leftover pizza. Do you remember when the kid that you went to school with would show up in the lunchroom with leftover pizza and you had to eat the slop that your parents... The cheese sandwich.

02:30:59 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 5:

You know if Tony has one of those freezer things? Oh, to keep everything cold? Yeah, to keep everything cold. Does he have one of those?

02:31:05 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

My kids don't like when I put those in their lunches because they say it makes their sandwich soggy.

02:31:09 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 6:

Do you know what his thing is? It's a Carhartt lunchbox, actually. Oh, of course it is. It's a real man's lunchbox. He's a man, yeah. Want some pizza? Anybody want it left over? Is it gluten-free, though? You never answered. It's gluten-free, Beagle-O.

02:31:20 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's thin, thin crust pizza, too. That looks yum. No, you got to heat that up, bro. All right, you eat. I'm going to do the dirty. I'm just going to work over here while you eat your lunch, okay? All right. Yesterday, Cassie Ventura took the stand in the federal trial of Sean Combs and shared some very graphic testimony against him. She said during their 10-year relationship, he forced her into those disturbing freak-offs that we've heard so much about. Many times he was directing and filming. They were fueled by drugs and alcohol. They could last anywhere from a couple of hours to days. Cassie said at one point it just became a job for her. In her testimony, Cassie said, quote, Sean controlled a lot of my life, whether it was career, sex, everything. And I didn't have much say. I was super young. I didn't know if he would be upset enough to be violent or not want to be with me at all. And she said she stayed so long because she wanted to make him happy. But as the years passed, she said even though she still wanted to please him, she recognized that he was becoming increasingly abusive, Beating her and orchestrating just even more and more and more degrading freak offs that made her feel like her career was no longer music. She had signed a 10 album deal with Bad Boy Records, but her career instead was performing for Diddy's sexual satisfaction. Now, Diddy's lawyers have depicted these sexual encounters as consensual. They have denied that there was anything coercive about them. But Cassie, you know, just said she she was scared. As many domestic violence victims say, she was scared not only of his anger, but also over his power over her career. The fact that he had videos and photos of these freak offs that could be used to blackmail her. And once again, she was scared for her life here.

02:33:08 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 1:

The defense is going to be have to be very meticulous and very strategic as to how they cross examine her. because of the way that Cassie comes off as a young, delicate woman. But what the defense is going to try to do is threaten her credibility, her believability.

02:33:27 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 2:

She'll take the stand again today to share more testimony.

02:33:30 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 5:

Man, real quick, I've seen one, like, breakdown, little synopsis of something she articulated on the stand yesterday about Suge Knight.

02:33:38 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the Suge Knight thing. See, it was in the middle of a freak-off. Somebody came in the room saying, Suge somewhere near... At a diner in L.A. They said Diddy popped up, put the baby away, tried to go find shit at night.

02:33:50 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 2:

Gave her a gun to carry with her into this. Yeah. Boy. Justin Bieber, if you follow him on Instagram, you saw he was ranting on a whole bunch of random stuff yesterday. Faith, integrity, fishing, his purpose. This was all part of a 13-slide Instagram story. He was using a face filter and changing his voice, but here's part of that. You've been hurt.

02:34:15 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 3:

You've been afraid. You have been shut down. But let me tell you a little something. G.O.D., our boy Jesus, got a plan. And he works all things together for Gucci. Gucci is what we mean when we mean good.

02:34:40 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 6:

He's giving Britney Spears, bro. Wow. This is now getting weirder and weirder. We need a conservatorship for JB. You're like Britney.

02:34:49 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

CNN's Jake Tapper being called a hypocrite this morning for trying to profit off of former President Joe Biden's mental decline with his new...

02:35:00 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 4:

bombshell book. It's called Original Sin, despite in the past defending the former president during his time in the White House. These troubling accounts of Biden's physical and mental decline, as well as some very obvious efforts to cover it up, started coming out yesterday as excerpts from Jake Tapper's book were being released. The book is based on more than 200 interviews,

02:35:24 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 2:

mostly with Democratic insiders, almost all of which occurred after the 2024 election was over when suddenly they were more willing to talk. The excerpt in The New Yorker today reveals for the very first time what exactly motivated actor and director George Clooney to write his momentous op-ed calling on Biden to drop out of the presidential race despite personally knowing him for more than two decades and Clooney's international fame as a movie star did not appear to recognize cluny at that june 2024 fundraiser that cluny was headlining even after a biden aide told the president quote you know george george cluny and it wasn't just cluny who was alarmed so was president obama so were other donors behind the scenes even democratic congresswoman annie custer of new hampshire who saw the event on stage which was not half as bad is what was going on backstage, came away thinking there was no way President Biden could serve another term. These brand new details coming just hours after more stunning revelations in an excerpt published by Axios that aides were privately discussing putting President Biden in a wheelchair for his second term because of his physical deterioration. Sources telling me and Alex Thompson that Biden's team thought it was, of course, politically untenable to have the president in a wheelchair during his reelection bid. They took steps to try to protect him in the images of his halting gait, including finding shorter walking paths, adding handrails to steps, using a smaller staircase to board Air Force One. Aides would also accompany Biden across the White House lawn to Marine One or from Marine One, not only to disguise what was going on, but in case he felt President Biden's doctor, White House physician. And again, this is Jake

02:37:12 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, these are excerpts from his book, his forthcoming book.

02:37:17 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 2:

He might need to be in a wheelchair for his recovery. Dr. O'Connor had long worried about the toll the job had taken.

02:37:23 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 4:

Here's the reason this is a big deal, and I'm just going to read one tweet on X, and you'll understand. This person tweeted, Jake Tapper covered Biden's ass the entire time and is now running to the other side and throwing his reporter hat on and releasing a book.

02:37:40 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is kind of awkward. He was one of the ones that I remember the interview that Laura Trump was on CNN with him. And she said something about Biden and how he wasn't physically, you know, able to be the president. And he was like, you should never say that. He being Jake Tapper. Yeah, Jake Tapper doing that. I don't know. It's interesting. I will say this to you. He was on The View recently. And when he walked out, he looked like he was a little confused to where he was going to sit. But he looked like he was walking okay. And I don't know why they had him. It was almost kind of like he was having to walk out through, like, living room furniture and stuff. It was weird. I do think that we probably would not elect or want our president in a wheelchair. That would be kind of interesting.

02:38:25 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 4:

We had a president in a wheelchair. Unless he was physically unable, you know what I'm saying?

02:38:30 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 3:

But if all of a sudden our president keeps falling down and stuff like that, I think we worry about that man is in control of the atomic football, right? where he's the guy that can push the buttons at any time. We want him well and okay, but.

02:38:44 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, have you guys heard about this Chromebook challenge? That's all over TikTok. Okay, so it involves students who like have a Chromebook at school inserting items like paperclips or pencils into the USB port of the laptops, which causes these Chromebooks to short circuit. Some of them like then starts sparking and smoking or catching on fire. Do not do this. Make sure that your kids do not do this.

02:39:09 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 1:

These lithium ion batteries are just a different type of fire that fire departments around the nation have been dealing with and, you know, trying to find the best way to get this under control. Once you have that thermal runaway in a Chromebook, it is a difficult fire to put out.

02:39:26 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

What are they doing? They're doing it to just make it spark? Yes.

02:39:29 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, they can, like, blow up. They can catch on fire. It's not safe whatsoever.

02:39:35 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 3:

If I was the parent that bought that thing, I'd be pissed.

02:39:38 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, a lot of times the schools issue them to the kids.

02:39:40 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Well, I'd be pissed there, too.

02:39:42 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 4:

I cannot believe how fast it came up on us that this concert was here. I remember we announced the concert. Everybody was so excited. And then I'm trying to think of who was the other one way back when. Way back when, I think we did one for, oh, Kid Rock. We did the Kid Rock one.

02:41:05 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 4:

Morgan Walmart.

02:41:06 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 2:

Morgan Walmart. Oh, my God. Remember that?

02:41:08 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 4:

That'd be a Wand Direction, right?

02:41:10 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 2:

No. Is that different? No, it's different. Wand Direction was basically, we had a bunch of guys that were in a mariachi band that we pretended was Wand Direction.

02:41:17 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 4:

I've never been screamed at more in my life.

02:41:20 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 2:

This is a contest where they look, you're an average person in town, everybody loves But people will say, hey, you kind of look like a celebrity. You know who you look like? You look like Jelly Roll. By the way, if somebody walked up to you and called you Jelly Roll, would you think that was an insult? I mean, unless you did.

02:41:39 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 3:

Tattoos on the face.

02:41:40 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 4:

Have you seen? Okay, so if you go on the Mojo in the Morning Facebook page and Bianca put up the, I don't know, whatever. What is it called? The graphic.

02:41:49 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:41:50 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you to myself for thinking of that. She put up the thingy, the graphic. And so people underneath now are posting their photos. Look at some of these.

02:41:59 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's Jelly Roll.

02:42:00 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 4:

They're wild. This one I think is my fave so far. Oh, my God.

02:42:05 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

That's Jelly Roll.

02:42:06 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 4:

He's coming in. Jelly Roll.

02:42:07 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 2:

There is no way that that's not Jelly Roll.

02:42:08 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 4:

This guy's pretty good.

02:42:10 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 2:

That's pretty good, too.

02:42:11 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay, there's one more that I thought. I mean, they are so entertaining. We're the buns. There's no.

02:42:16 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 2:

My favorite.

02:42:17 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 4:

I see kids.

02:42:18 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

My favorite was when we did the Kid Rock concert giveaway. and we had people that looked like it was not rock or kid kid not rock or something not I kid not and I remember pretty good it was a woman oh that is a really good one there was a woman that won and I'm not kidding you if I said hey look kid rock just walked by the studio you would think it was kid rock because from behind you see the long hair yeah and it had she had the hat on and she kind of had like a little bit of a a muscular kind of uh body or whatever like kind I have like a dude body.

02:42:50 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

With brush odors.

02:42:52 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, she turns around, and it's like a lady with lipstick. Wow. It was great. It was pretty cool. This is going to be really fun.

02:43:00 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 3:

Would you take a Pam Anderson in the front, but a kid rocking the back to do that?

02:43:06 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think I want Pam Anderson.

02:43:07 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 4:

I love what Pam Anderson is doing now, though. No makeup, nothing.

02:43:13 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 2:

I'll tell you this. I'll take a jelly roll all over the place. Would you bring back the belly ring for that? You know what? I love that Jelly Roll's lost weight. I mean, that's great, but I'm worried about him. Why? Because now that he's lost weight, is he going to lose the appeal of being that guy? Nah, nah. Because if he loses too much weight, is he going to get Ozempic face? What's the latest one I've heard? Have you heard about Ozempic nose now?

02:43:39 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God, no.

02:43:40 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 2:

They're saying that your nose now all of a sudden gets so thin and so tiny that it looks skeletal on your body. It looks like Michael Jackson. Oh, I want my nose to be skeletal. Remember when Michael Jackson's nose melted?

02:43:51 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 4:

So this, by the way, is happening with Meghan Trainor right now.

02:43:54 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:43:56 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm ignoring his comment. Yeah, so Meghan Trainor was at our Wango Tango over the weekend. Oh, yeah, shot out the kiss. And she, first of all, I love her, but she kind of built her career on being a curvier girl and supporting other curvier girls. And that was like her, you know, I mean, all about the base, right? and she got up on stage over the weekend in this cute pink little like barbie number and fans were really and she i think she just got a boob job and fans were really upset because they were like what happened to the girl that gave me all the confidence for being a curvy girl i like that

02:44:28 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 3:

but we got to give people room to evolve and change and grow and become i totally agree with

02:44:33 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 4:

i'm just saying that the the comments that i saw afterwards were a lot of that i'm going to tell

02:44:38 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 2:

you i think a lot has to do with her comments that she makes and this is the thing i have seen and listen i've been a fat guy my whole life that's gotten skinny fat skinny fat okay yeah no i know believe me i'm it's true it's i know i know you can't i'll show you pictures but i have never tried to be the guy that when i got skinny was ever like in your face about being skinny now where I'm like, ultimately like, Oh, you're eating that, you know, stuff like that. And then also the other thing too, is I've always been honest about how I've lost weight. I've told you every time that I do it, which trainer is, but here's the thing though. She said she was doing the shot. People have to be careful. You have to be careful because if you've, and I know it's your personal and I know this is very much so all about what you're doing, but if you do a shot or a weight loss, you know, company or you do plastic surgery and get rid of you know stuff through lipo or through tummy talks and if you're not willing to talk about it and then you're going to be preachy and Megan I've seen a few of her comments that she's done uh uh Megan Trainor so I don't want anybody thinking I'm talking about uh uh the artist the artist formerly known as Megan uh Megan who used to work on the show Megan Trainor I've seen some of the things that she's done and I think that She says some things that I, as a guy who has struggled with my weight, goes, eh, I don't know if I would do that to people. Because weight is a huge issue. And if you have a weight issue, it's very personal to you. But you also want the community of people that have struggled with it to be there to embrace you and help you out. And I think that's what, I think that honestly is what has made Jelly Roll great is people are rooting him on right now. But if all of a sudden Jelly Roll starts walking around eating rice cakes, and starts telling you that rice cakes are the only thing people are going to turn on them.

02:46:33 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 3:

Maybe, but there is a quote they used to say, value your relationships, but don't lose your values for them. And I think when you talk about people, however you want to lose weight, value whatever and whoever you want to become, but don't devalue other people because you're doing what you're doing.

02:46:53 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean?

02:46:54 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 3:

And I think that's kind of what you're saying. Yeah, absolutely.

02:46:56 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 2:

And that's actually very good. I like that quote. Yeah. But I also, with that said, where do you come up with all these things?

02:47:04 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 1:

I'm always so impressed at how he remembers all of them. I hear a good quote, and I think, oh, I have to bookmark this on my Instagram. Save the area. I'll screenshot it or whatever. And then I can't find it bookmarked. I'm like, I had this quote. Hang on. Let me scroll to 2020.

02:47:18 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm looking at a couple of these people that are on this contest that we're doing. And I'm looking at these. They're so good. And I'm looking at these guys going, yes. Because you know what? The beauty of doing a contest like this Jelly Roll one is that is the average guy, right? True.

02:47:35 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 1:

By the way, to the idiot who just posted an actual photo of Jelly Roll.

02:47:39 - 02:47:40 | Unknown:

Right. You're dumb.

02:47:40 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, wait, somebody actually did? They just posted Jelly Roll.

02:47:43 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 3:

We could do a Jelly Roll contest. We couldn't do a Glenn Powell contest.

02:47:47 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:47:48 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 3:

But I wish we did. I know, I just did that for you.

02:47:51 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 1:

I thought I saw, where was I yesterday? And I thought, I can't remember where the hell I was. and i thought it was glenn powell walking around i've almost gotten to a car accident and the

02:48:00 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 3:

person stopped in front of me has that ever happened to you you see somebody so far i was

02:48:05 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 1:

in birmingham and i i saw this guy walking and he was like dressed kind of bad but i'm like wait that looks like glenn powell like undercover it was not i don't think let me address one more

02:48:14 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

thing i want to address on this uh aside from this contest during your last dirty report you did the story about joe biden and the report that joe biden uh was going to have to be in a wheelchair or they thought he was gonna be a wheelchair and i said i don't think he wins an election if he's in a wheelchair and i don't think that a person then in a wheelchair wins an election i've had some people that are upset uh 989 says saddened to hear mojo say someone in a wheelchair isn't fit to be president i think fdr would disagree another one 419 um i for one wouldn't want my president in a wheelchair but damn mojo for you to say that that is disgusting and uh bad for people who are disabled uh thank you kevin for trying to correct him no no no that's not that's absolutely not what you meant explain something to you i have no problem with anybody that is disabled at all what i'm saying is i don't think america elects somebody that's in a wheelchair or possibly has a disability that will show. I think our country, I'm not saying that I have a problem with it. I'm saying I don't think America does it. I think that we are a very interesting place. You know, and I think obviously we elect who we elect and, you know, you can say what you want over the last you know, how many years that we've had here, 12 years or whatever that's been going on. But I think that there is a little bit to the idea that if all of a sudden this you know a president is now now in a wheelchair like i don't think that that guy who's the governor of texas who's in a wheelchair obviously there's some people that like him he gets elected to governor i don't know how if he could run for president i i also think that that had that that

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 1:

His comment had to do with his age, not any sort of disability.

02:50:03 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, and also has to deal with it, definitely his age. All of a sudden he gets in there. But you're explaining my comment. I'm just saying, and I'm not saying I'm voting or not voting. I'm just saying, I'm explaining by saying I don't believe America would vote for that.

02:50:18 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 2:

I think America would. But I think like all candidates, it has to be the right candidate. Like America may have been, may have not been ready for a black president. I think Obama was the right president at the right time. I think the right person, you get, you know, check off the list, married, blah, blah, blah, war veteran, something happened. I think if you're the right person, I think maybe people look past.

02:50:39 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 3:

So a war veteran loses his legs, whatever the deal is. You think that he could do it?

02:50:43 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 2:

Hell yeah, for sure. Especially if he's talking the right talk. They got prostate, you can walk, you can do all the type of things. I think they let him. I would hope that we would. I would vote for the right person.

02:50:52 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 3:

I would hope we would. But I'm just saying that part of me thinks that that wouldn't happen. And definitely on the bottom. I don't know what you're saying. On the Biden thing, the fact that he was okay and everything was fine. When he started falling, did it not make you start going, oh, God, what the hell's wrong with this guy? He's, like, falling all over the place. Right.

02:51:08 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 2:

A little bit.

02:51:08 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But.

02:51:10 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 2:

Get what you're saying, though. I know you're not trying to say, like, you know.

02:51:13 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 3:

Would America elect a guy that looks like Jelly Roll? Would America elect.

02:51:17 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 2:

He get free Krispy Kreme every Thursday.

02:51:19 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 3:

You think so? Tattoos all over his face?

02:51:22 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 2:

Ah, it'll take a while.

02:51:24 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

All right. Would America elect Shannon? Yes. I didn't elect Shannon. No. You'll be the first woman president right there.

02:51:30 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 2:

I vote for Shannon.

02:51:31 - 02:51:57 | Speaker 3:

All right. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So Kev was having a conversation with one of our coworkers here at the station, and something kind of threw you for a loop.

02:51:57 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 2:

For sure. Shout out to Rhonda. I don't know what station she worked for.

02:52:01 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 3:

She's our sports director for the whole company.

02:52:03 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 2:

I just love Rhonda. She cool. So Rhonda came in, and we were talking about, like, weekend plans. We're like, what you got going on today? And I'm like, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. What you got going on? She was like, I'm hanging out with the gays. And I'm like, who are the gays? And then she starts to tell me that she has, I think, two or three gay best friends. And then we start to talk about those gay best friends. And then she drops a bombshell on me and says that those gay best friends, One of them wasn't always gay. And in fact, that gay best friend was at one point in time married and has three children. Oh, yeah. And in my mind, like you said, my mind was blown because I'm like, you never heard of that before. I mean, I feel like you was always gay. I don't think you just get married, have three kids, and then you just pop up and be like, oh, I'm gay now. Let me get a divorce. Like you was gay the whole time.

02:52:53 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 1:

Wait, but you don't know what I, my question was, you haven't, you don't know anybody that was in a heterosexual relationship and, and now is, is no longer.

02:53:02 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't know anyone that was married, had three kids and divorced and not again.

02:53:06 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 1:

I feel like I know a lot.

02:53:08 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I do too.

02:53:08 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 1:

A lot. A lot of people that were married, had kids and not again. Yes, with children. Yes.

02:53:13 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 3:

What? Our, our kids, we had, our kids went to school with a dad who, who now is married to another man and um the kids we would all do all the stuff together and hang out as couples and uh he got divorced from his wife and then ended up after he had a few kids and raised his kids to a to a level

02:53:35 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 2:

past high school they got in high school do you know you and i have a mutual friend same scenario do y'all know if that person was always gay or i believe well yeah i think that they all say that

02:53:44 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 3:

they well they tell me you know the the couple of cases that i i know of there's also a family member that we have they said that they knew they were gay the whole time they just were in the closet they were in i think that family pressures and societal pressures kept them from being uh out and and doing what they're now doing but to start a family yeah they had you know and

02:54:06 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 2:

then at that point say now i'm ready that's that's a lot but i think that they do i think it happens

02:54:12 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 3:

matter of fact 844 mojo live if if it's you we'd love to hear from you but i think you don't know

02:54:18 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 1:

Do you know how many guys are husbands to wives are currently on the down low right now and engaging in whatever with other men because they are, which is sad to me, that they are too scared to be, you know, their true selves for whatever reason, like you're saying. Why are you looking at me like, no, because you just mentioned this.

02:54:42 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm gay now. Wow.

02:54:44 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 1:

Society, their families, their jobs, whatever.

02:54:47 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

these men you know whatever i have heard of situations where a guy and a girl who are both gay are not in a position to where to your points where they're comfortable coming out

02:55:00 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 4:

So they'll say this is our agreement to be together, but we'll still live our lives the way we truly feel.

02:55:05 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 5:

Well, I've heard that before.

02:55:07 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 4:

They don't have kids and like, you know, go off.

02:55:09 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 5:

I think this also happens with women, too. I think women will be in a marriage with a man and then they will find themselves realizing that they're not interested.

02:55:19 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 6:

I know somebody who is in that situation as well. And she is now very happy with a lady.

02:55:23 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, the telephone number. If you would like to share with us, we would love for you to. Justin's on with us. Hi, Justin. How you doing? Thanks for calling, buddy. Hi, Justin.

02:55:40 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning. How are you guys? Good morning.

02:55:42 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 5:

Kev says that he never has heard this before. What's going on?

02:55:47 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 3:

I mean, this is very common, like really common. I mean, I'm a gay man, but I came out young. But one of my best friends, I met him because he was leaving his wife, and he found me listed for, like, a roommate, and I was his first date friend. He came out, and he has three kids and, you know, divorced his wife. But, like, to Kevin, you know, you're like, to say that, oh, now I'm gay or they're coming out, well, I mean, you haven't lived their shoes. He's in his 60s, and, you know, his whole family probably would have disowned him. My parents are dead now, but obviously I'm not in their shoes.

02:56:29 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm not trying to make light of the situation. I'm just trying to ask questions to understand if it's a situation where you've been gay the entire time and you just decided that, you know, because, like you said, family pressure, societal pressure, whatever the case was, that you're going to just keep quiet. and then do you feel like you live in a fake life if you go get married and you have children where like does the other person know you gay or are you just playing around with their life

02:56:54 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 5:

well i think i think in one case in one case i know about the wife knew all the time okay that's cool she felt like she knew but no she didn't know she never told her she always felt like

02:57:04 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 3:

something was there yeah i i mean i think that yeah there's definitely the case of sort of living a fake life but sometimes these people are so far down the rabbit hole of like denial and just repression like just i'm just gonna lock this feeling away i'm never gonna face it i'm gonna live this way and i'm never gonna never gonna answer to my true self i'm gonna lie and just cover it up the whole way and i think a lot of gay men like when i realized when i was like 12 i thought i'm never telling anybody i'm just gonna get married to a woman i thought i was gonna do

02:57:37 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 5:

that i just couldn't i could i caved yeah yeah well and and that's how as parents of a son that is gay i told you guys on the air that that was one of the proudest moments of my life was when he came out to us because he could be who he is you know and it makes me so sad that you said your friend was 60 years old and then that was the first time he was able to do that that's a lifelong uh you know long life that you've lived chase what's up how you doing i'm good how are you good what's going on kevin's coming out today yeah what's going on i just wanted to um make or

02:58:13 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 1:

i wanted to jump in and say that being a gay man too i just got married in august i um they having that societal pressure and everything of like hey this is how it's supposed to work and the climate that we're living in today like it's scary for some people and some people might just have that doubt of like oh you know well maybe i do need to just have that male and female relationship and then further down the line they're like wow this is not the life that i was meant to live like life is too short and i mean like for example my sister she um always supported me being gay and um always supported my my now husband and i and then all of a sudden right before our wedding decided that she no longer supports people being gay and put a huge giant like rift in the family and not supporting our marriage and so it's like those are the type of things that make people feel like they can't come out or can't like live the life that they should so it's that shame but you know again life's too short you got to do what you're gonna do

02:59:11 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 5:

that's a fact and you only get one i only get one life you know this is actually and this is an interesting topic i'm glad we're bringing this up right now i'd love to hear the kids perspective too i don't know if we have time or we'll get those calls but one day it'd be interesting to hear kids talk about their parent coming out later in life. What's up, Nate? How you doing?

02:59:33 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm doing well. Yourself? Doing okay, man. What's going on? So I am finding myself in this exact scenario currently. My wife and I of 16 years are getting a divorce. Differences that she's always known that I've been by since the very beginning of our relationship. Uh, we have three kids that we're raising and, um, Just after 16 years, it's not working out the way that either one of us thought it would. And I have decided to go explore the gay side of my personality. And, yeah, it's been very weird and interesting.

03:00:16 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 1:

So this is interesting. When you say you're bi, because I always have heard gay friends of mine say there's no such thing as being bi.

03:00:24 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 2:

well i would say it's easier for a lot of people to understand that than it is to say you know any of the other definitions pansexual um just yeah being married to a woman things like that so are

03:00:39 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 1:

you now are you now when you're divorcing this woman are you now then going to explore just a

03:00:45 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 2:

male male male relationship yeah yeah that's that's what it's going to be for me for now

03:00:52 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that part of it also is you wanted the family thing for your family? So you wanted to have the...

03:00:59 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for sure. I mean, that was something that when we were together, we were friends well before we ever got married. And, you know, that was something that we had always discussed with having a family. And when we were friends, we fell in love. And that just wasn't enough.

03:01:19 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 1:

How old are your kids?

03:01:22 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 2:

Uh, they are 10, 8, and 6.

03:01:26 - 03:01:26 | Unknown:

Wow.

03:01:26 - 03:01:29 | Speaker 1:

Gotcha. How, how, do they know what's going on?

03:01:30 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Uh, some of it. They know about us getting divorced. They don't know everything else.

03:01:33 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. How do you think that's going to be on them?

03:01:37 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 2:

Um, I don't know. We'll find out when it happens.

03:01:40 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 1:

Because you're not, you're not going to hide the fact that you're dating men from them, are you?

03:01:45 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to hide it, but I'm also going to wait until it's a more appropriate time

03:01:50 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 1:

to know what's going on yeah i i think that in the cases that i've known about and again it's two one is an old neighbor the other one is a family member i think in both those cases they waited till their kids got to a certain age but i think that they also regretted a lot of that because i think that they felt like they were they were having to be too hiding around their kids i would

03:02:15 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 2:

talk to somebody about that yeah i will say that that was one of the motivating factors and and being open about sexuality in our house entirely um one of my one of my kids was watching a show and they had a reaction about two dudes kissing on tv and i said oh no that that was not okay hold on so yeah we've always tried to be open about sexuality in our house and we correct it as soon as we hear anything that's you know out of pocket let me

03:02:48 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 1:

pick up amber real quick because amber might add some help for you amber if i explain this right uh tell me or if i don't tell me uh your dad and mom were together and then your dad and mom split

03:03:01 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 3:

up and your dad is gay yes he was gay the whole time they were married and i think my mom had her suspicions. Um, but, uh, when I was like 14 months old, they ended up getting divorced and he came out, uh, after that and lived his life. And so you, you've always known him as my gay dad. Correct. Yes. And I'm also gay. Okay. So it was much easier to come out to him when I was older,

03:03:30 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 1:

but the perspective for you and never was, I, cause I thought maybe you were, uh, maybe Nate's kid's age, because Nate's kid's age are older. They're like, you know, they're eight and above, so, or eight, and what did you say, Nate? Teen?

03:03:44 - 03:03:45 | Speaker 2:

Did you say four or 14?

03:03:48 - 03:03:50 | Speaker 1:

For you talking to Amber? Oh.

03:03:50 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Amber was, uh, 14, I was 14 months old. Oh, 14 months old.

03:03:54 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so she was his baby.

03:03:55 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm sorry, I didn't hear you.

03:03:56 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 1:

So, could you imagine if your dad would have waited?

03:04:02 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Uh, um, you know, Well, I think he was in denial. I think he was trying to do what society would want him to do.

03:04:12 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Which I think is what happens all the time.

03:04:15 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 3:

Where do wives at? Yeah, exactly.

03:04:17 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 1:

All the wives. I want to talk to the wives that are blindsided. In one of the cases that I gave you as an example, the wife did not take too kindly at first. And it caused her a lot of issues. I think she's come around a little bit more now. Nate, how's your wife with it?

03:04:32 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 2:

she's absolutely fine with it like i said we were open from the beginning so she's she's always known about that side of me um it's just that you know now it's something that i don't want to repress anymore even if it's you know for anything else and she doesn't want to stand in the way of it neither one of us want to stand in the way of the other being happy and so that's why we're that's We're watching. away from it. Well, good luck to you. Uh, and I wish you nothing but the best, man. I hope that your kids, uh, are, you know, are just healthy and happy with a mom and dad that love them. And I think, you know, that's all you can ask for. Uh, we should bring this up and, uh, maybe do one day discussion from the ends of the wives perspective, uh, or the woman or the person, the man who, you know, didn't realize that their spouse was gay and the kids perspective. I'd love to hear those kids' stories of all of a sudden you're going to school instead of with your mom and dad with your mom and your mom or your dad and your dad. We'll be right back. We met at the Tin Roof. Oh, okay. So you guys went out just hung out with each other or did you have other people that you were out with?

03:06:26 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they were like mutual friends and we're hanging out at the bar and then we were getting drinks and then we kind of broke off and we were walking around the city and just talking and yeah, I know she was laughing at my jokes and I thought we were getting along really well. So yeah, this whole thing is just weird. And I heard from her since.

03:06:44 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 2:

The date ended with you guys saying, hey, we're going to go out again?

03:06:48 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we kissed. So I was like, okay, that's a really good sign.

03:06:54 - 03:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

03:06:55 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 3:

And I really felt we had a great time.

03:06:57 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 2:

But you have not heard from her since that night, and you're wondering what's going on. We're going to find out what's happening. Alina is on with us right now. Hey, Alina, will you say hi to Kenny?

03:07:09 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

03:07:10 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 3:

How are you doing?

03:07:12 - 03:07:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm okay. How are you?

03:07:14 - 03:07:18 | Speaker 3:

Good. I know it's a little awkward, just wondering what happened.

03:07:21 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 4:

Uh, well, um, do you want us to help you here?

03:07:27 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Alina, how are you doing? Alina, are you doing good?

03:07:31 - 03:07:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm fine. This is just weird, but yes, I'm fine.

03:07:33 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So you guys, so explain this to me, Alina. So you were there with friends. Kenny was there with friends. Did your friend, did you guys all know each other or was it just you guys were hanging out at the bar?

03:07:45 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 4:

well so we were hanging at the bar but like i i told my friends about him and my friends like knew of him and said that he's a player and he talks to like every girl

03:08:03 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 2:

and like he's a big player is that wait is that true kenny i think he's not gonna admit that

03:08:12 - 03:08:19 | Speaker 3:

I guess I used to be a player when I was younger, but I'm trying to settle down now. That's not the person I am now.

03:08:19 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 5:

Who is this friend? How did she know? Does she know him in real life, or is this hearsay? She said friends, like plural. I mean, did they date him?

03:08:30 - 03:08:41 | Speaker 4:

None of them have dated him, but they knew people who have dated him. So he's famous, I guess. In the friend community.

03:08:41 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, Gigolo, you are a world-renowned guy, Ken.

03:08:46 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 6:

That's hard because you want to formulate your own opinion about somebody, especially after you have a great date. However, I know how I would feel about that. Like, that would mess with my head right off the bat, and I think I'd be doing the same thing. I don't know.

03:09:03 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 5:

Say, for example, in your situation, because you've made it known that Wes has had a pass. Oh, yeah.

03:09:09 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Wes won't tell me his number. Wes was 100 million percent a player. But he's not there anymore.

03:09:14 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 5:

Right. And you gave him an opportunity.

03:09:17 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I mean, yeah.

03:09:18 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 5:

I feel like this is the same situation. He said he was a player back in the day. Doesn't mean he should have to pay for his previous sins.

03:09:24 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 6:

What is his definition of back in the day? Like, a year ago? If all of her friends are coming forward to say, oh, yeah, we know this guy.

03:09:31 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 2:

What did they say, Alina, specifically about Kenny?

03:09:33 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 4:

he just like he just like you know hooks up and you know tries to get with like a ton of girls and like i don't want to i just don't want to be another number another girl for this guy

03:09:50 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

all right 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to just ask this question should you go off of what other

03:10:00 - 03:10:21 | Speaker 1:

say about somebody when you're going out or are their references tainted because it sounds to me like the night you guys had was great was it am i right in saying that like going off of nobody said anything to you would you be out with him on another date yeah probably okay the problem here

03:10:21 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 3:

is it's not one reference it's multiple and that's where it puts the pressure on of um maybe there's

03:10:28 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 1:

some truth to this but also are they dealing with it because they heard rumors sure because i think that that's the problem sometimes too is that i think that sometimes people will talk crap about somebody and and it's a game of telephone it's like wildfire and also kenny kenny admitted back in his his past i mean can a guy change i mean that's you know that's something i think that you have to understand too i don't think everybody's the same person that they are today that they were yesterday um let me let me take some calls here let me see what kelly thinks

03:10:57 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 5:

kelly what are your thoughts on this hi so i have actually been with the guy for 10 years and um one of my friends said the same thing about him before we started dating oh boy and why did you kind of warned me about him she was like well i hear he gets around he does this he does that and i said well first of all how do you know i'm not wanting the same thing oh okay i said but i said but i wanted to have my own opinion of him i didn't want to take anybody else's opinion So I just kind of took it with a grain of salt. And I was like, okay, let me just have that as a guard. And we've been together for 10 years.

03:11:34 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Thank God you didn't go off of that opinion.

03:11:37 - 03:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I didn't. Because he was somebody completely different than what she was telling me about anyways. And I come to find out she actually had a crush on him.

03:11:45 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 1:

So you never know how to do the same thing. I mean, that's something. I don't know, Alina, if you vetted these friends of yours to figure out if these friends of yours have good intentions in mind when it comes to your relationship life um lauren what are your thoughts hi it's mojo in the morning

03:12:00 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 5:

hi um so i just wanted to say that i used to be a player myself and i feel like i agree 100 percent with what you guys are saying of where you know your past can't be used for current judgment so if you are you know like if someone is interested in you then they should take the experience that's happening in the present and face their feelings off of that and a lot everyone has an opinion everyone has something to say but it's up to you to decide if you want to go off your own opinion or if you want to listen to what others are feeding into you you know what changed

03:12:39 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 1:

your your ways what changed you to become uh not a player um well for one it was really tiring

03:12:48 - 03:13:16 | Speaker 5:

trying to keep up with having multiple like entertaining multiple people and i did meet somebody who i've been with now for three years we're having a baby together congratulations that's nice yeah and it just was a good like having a connection with somebody and that made me change like i i didn't want to be out and doing whatever having meaningless affairs with people Like, I wanted something that was more, you know?

03:13:17 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. Well, congratulations on that, and congratulations on the baby. What's up, Jennifer? Hi.

03:13:22 - 03:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

03:13:23 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

03:13:24 - 03:13:34 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to see that if this was her and his friends were saying that she's a hoe and she slept around with a lot of guys, you know, he would feel the same way.

03:13:35 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 1:

Maybe not. But I will say this to you. Well, that's true. Maybe he might be interested in that. But I also will say this to you. I think there is a double standard to giving this guy the bad reputation off of this friend circle thing. If this was a girl and he came on the air with us and said, hey, I heard that she's kind of a hoe or whatever the deal is, like you said. I think that our listeners like you would be more defensive towards, hey, you can't talk about that about a girl. So I think it's easier to call a guy a hoe than it is to call a woman a hoe and get away with it on just other people's comments.

03:14:14 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 5:

Right.

03:14:15 - 03:14:34 | Speaker 1:

I mean, and I feel bad for you, Kenny. I do feel bad about this whole thing because at what point do you get to change your reputation? You know, you've got to get a chance. I think what you guys did was commendable, and the fact that you guys weren't meeting on an app somewhere, you guys actually went out and had conversation with each other and hung out with each other at a bar.

03:14:35 - 03:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. And it's not like we hooked up. If I was a player, don't you think I would have tried to do that? You know, it was just a nice night.

03:14:42 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's interesting. Come on, man. Preach. All right. Give him a chance, man. Maybe he's different. Prove your friends wrong. Think about it, Alina. All right? Mm-hmm. Second date update. It ain't happening. I know.

Steve, I thought the moment that Megan left the show that you would leave the show, too, chasing after her. You know, I appreciate that, but my loyalty is with you, Mojo. It is not to Megan. That's true. Well, let me say something to you, Steve. I'm going to be honest with you. I would be much better to date. I promise you. I would at least call you back. Okay, what'd you put out? You know what? Possibly. You never know. Kev just did a topic just a couple of minutes ago about married guys that come out gay. I love that. I will say this to you.
