We left the house for a little bit and let her have alone time, so I think she enjoyed that the most. That's nice. That is always the best, by the way. I mean, I'm talking about there are some moms there that, and we won't say names, but had some very interesting stories to tell, not just from Naughty Moms Night Out, but about their lives. Holy cow. And thanks to all the women who showed up in the restroom at the Daxton Hotel and showed their boobs, including Shannon. You guys, so this was a topic, by the way, on Friday night where people were talking about Shannon's boobs and talking about how you guys all showed your boobs to each other.

Megan was in that bathroom, too. I was.

Did you show your boobs?

I did not. No, she didn't. How did this even start? I don't know. All of a sudden, Megan and I ended up in the bathroom, and we were taking a bunch of photos and talking to, there was probably a group of like six or eight moms in there with us, would you say, Megan?

Oh, yeah. And to be fair, that bathroom was so beautiful that you had to have a photo shoot in there.

It was, yeah. Boobs, boobs, boobs. So we were just taking pictures and talking, and all of a sudden, I don't know who started talking about boobs and nipple size and you know whether they're perky or saggy or whatever because you know moms tend to do that because your boobs change after you have kids and then all of a sudden like the dresses were coming down the shirts were coming up and we were all comparing what I found

shocking about this was how little persuasion Shannon needed oh yeah it took maybe one half of a suggestion and um i never want to hear anything about the photo that i have sent to you uh because this is this is much farther than what i sent yeah i sent shannon a photo a long time ago of just it was a bathroom selfie i was looking for approval before i sent it to somebody else and everybody's like oh risque you know what that's nothing that is pbs children's programming on Saturday morning compared to what happened in that bathroom this Friday night.

Thank you for making my boobs sound so fantastic because they're not. It's this big. They're not that big at all. Quite the opposite, actually, but I appreciate you.

Wait, so go ahead. I'm sorry.

At some point, somebody tried to get me to show my boobs as well, and I said, the amount of sweat, effort, and layers between you and me right now is too high. It would take 20 minutes.

So question for you from guys, Mike, you and I. we don't go to bathrooms and show off our wieners to each other. I mean, we can if you want, I guess, but I don't feel like it's not. Can you imagine if we went into the bathroom and just go, guys, so how big are yours and what does it look like? No, it doesn't.

It happens in a locker room when you're in high school. Yes, it does. Oh, that's true. That's true, Megan. Who told you that? Every guy I've ever dated. Every guy you've ever dated is a liar.

He's 100% a liar.

Maybe it's just not talked about. as openly and freely as moms compared their boots to each other.

When I was in high school, I actually would not even shower. I'd wear a bathing suit shower.

When I was playing sports. You're a liar. Okay, so question. I also will say this, though. I don't think there's as big of a fascination with penises because there's no trauma that happens to them like there is with moms who have to go through, you know, nursing or just the way. Fair. What happens after you push out some babies to your body.

As you get older, they do sag just like boobs do. So I just want you to know that. Penises do? Well, the... They do. Yeah. The beans do, not the frank. Oh, okay. But real quick, I wanted to say... I got you. When you guys go into the bathroom, like, was it somebody that, like, a listener just said, hey, let's talk about the boobs, or was it, do you guys, when you go to the bathroom, do you guys take your tops off when you're going to the bathroom? Like, how does that work?

You don't take your top off if you're going to the bathroom unless you're wearing a bodysuit, and that's necessary. Okay.

I was going to say, a romper will be very horrible. So how did it start on Friday? It's a great question. I have no idea. It was just somebody said, what do your boobs look like? And then next thing you know, everybody's showing their boobs.

I swear to God, I turned around and Shannon's top was off. I don't know what happened. Well, my top wasn't off, but I could lean over in my dress and see. You know, you could see. Like, I think I pulled my dress down.

Well, I remembered that when we were getting ready to leave your house on Friday, that the conversation was that you were going to get tape or something like that for your dress, right? There was the conversation of what you would use, and I was finding it very interesting that you guys were randomly looking for different kinds of tape and stuff like that. So then all of a sudden you guys end up in the bathroom, and in that bathroom you guys are just like, you know.

If you were in that bathroom with Megan and I, please call, because I truly don't remember how this started.

Hold on, Kirsten's out with us. Kirsten, were you there?

I was in the bathroom when Shannon's boobs out. Hi, Kirsten. Really?

And so did you get a chance to see Shannon's boobies?

Yeah, and the other girls.

But that was it. I had to get out of there. Yeah.

I like your boobies. Wait, so there's you and what about how many girls there in the bathroom?

Okay, so this is what I walk into the bathroom, and there is Shannon and Megan, and they are taking selfies, and I join in. And then before I know it, just more people keep filing into the bathroom. And I think the one girl is talking about her outfit. like it wasn't fitting right and she's trying to adjust and then that's just how the boobs ended up

out very interesting so all of a sudden that's what happened all of a sudden it's adjustments and then everybody going hey i need to adjust too and then next thing you know there's a topless fun yeah you know wow by the way you know you thought that you were up close and personal with this radio program with the different things that we do isn't that amazing

absolutely i am here for it and i loved every second of it oh well thank you for joining us

and do do you guys rake uh rank the boobies or do you guys just uh or you know does somebody say oh look at that okay you got this or what you know like how do you guys describe them do you

guys is it yeah we did like you know like oh those are nice but we think they're all beautiful but

Prepare yourself. The amazing thing is, once I realize that there are other people out there that have the same kind of a body problem that I do, then I'm like, yeah, let's go after it. You know what I mean? I don't know how women feel the same way, too, but once you go, okay, well, mine may not be that great, but hers isn't that great or his isn't that great, and I'm just going to show everybody what's going on. Well, let's start off with this. The Memphis Grizzlies have suspended John Morant from all team activities after a video showing him holding a gun began going around social media on Saturday night. Again. Yeah. So this happened during an Instagram live session on his buddy Devante Pax account. John Morant, there he was, flashing a handgun while driving and singing along with some sort of song. So the Grizzlies announced the suspension, which is pending a leak review in a statement yesterday two months after the NBA suspended John Morant over a similar incident. Remember at that point he left the Grizzlies and entered a counseling program. This was back in March after a different video showed him.

him holding a gun while he was drinking at a Denver club when the Grizzlies were in town to play the Nuggets. He was eventually suspended eight games for that incident. At the time of that suspension, Morant told ESPN that he realizes what he has to lose and said he was going to try to be more responsible, smarter, and stay away from all of the bad decisions. Apparently,

he forgot about that this weekend. Yeah, some are actually calling for him to be suspended for the entire next season I don't know if that will happen I think it could get into like maybe a couple of weeks or a month or something like that but I'll tell you what not a smart guy especially knowing how much money he's going to lose out on this one and it'll be interesting to see Nike stuck with him after the first one would Nike stick with him after the second one yeah

Jamie Foxx's family is clearing up some rumors regarding the medical complication that landed him in the hospital for several weeks the family revealed there is nothing to worry about after his recent health scare i know the rumor going around last week on social media was that his family was preparing for the worst well his daughter corinne wrote on instagram quote my dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating and flat in fact he was playing pickleball just yesterday ben affleck and jennifer lopez were caught having yet another pretty tense exchange in public and we've got video of it. They were driving in Beverly Hills when they stopped at a red light and had some sort of heated conversation. There were photos and videos taken by somebody who was right there seeing this happen and said that a visibly frustrated Ben was in the driver's seat talking to Jen as she sat in the passenger seat of his Rivian electric SUV with the windows rolled down and they were having some sort of very tense, I'll use that word again, conversation. didn't seem to be aware of anybody who could have been watching or overhearing nearby or they just didn't care. But there were a lot of hand gestures on Ben's part. He was waving his hands up and down, looked very heated while J-Lo just kind of sat there in a zone, barely paying attention to what her husband was saying to her. She just kind of stared straight ahead. So this is the third instance of something like this happening that we're getting in the past week.

Do you think that she's not engaged in a way that is like I am sick of this behavior and I'm through with it Or like she's been through this too much And her response is just to shut down at this point Or they're in public and she knows that

But I do think that she's kind of hanging out for some reason You know, if he's the one that's the more visibly angry guy Because she looks very, like, not affected by it Her body language says a lot.

But if they were really that bad, why would they be together? You know what I mean?

Because it makes them money?

Well, but I'm saying, why are they going out in public together? Like if they're really that bad going, this makes them money just being photographed in a bad light?

I don't know. I wonder sometimes if they're just trying to either get news off of this, you know, or what. They're calling it Swiftonomics, which is a splurge fans can justify after the pandemic brought live music to a halt and they're saying Taylor Swift is really kick-starting this in terms of fans just going above and beyond to support their favorite artist and get there to see their favorite artist.

When she comes here in just a few weeks they say that the hotel rates have never been that high since we had the Super Bowl back in the day. Really? That's how high they...

And lastly, the show Yellowstone is impacting baby names in a big way. The Social Security administration released the annual yeah mike listen up the annual list of top baby names for the past year dutton casey rip and renley are all on the rise thanks to the show dutton moved up the list and is the fastest rising name in the rankings casey moved up at to number 587 and rip is gaining some attention it didn't

Crack the top 1,000, but again, is making the move. It is Liam's sixth straight year as number one for boys on the list and Olivia coming in again at number one.

Thank you. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. Mojo in the Mornings. It is time now for a little recap. And we've got lots to talk about with our Naughty Moms Night Out from over the weekend. First off, I hope you guys all had a wonderful weekend. I hope that your Mother's Days were great. I hope every mom got what they wanted, and I hope that what they wanted, honestly, was just a chance to just get some rest, relaxation, and be treated like the queens that they are. But with that said, let's talk about Naughty Moms Night Out, because I got a lot to talk about. I actually made notes. Let me go through my notes here right now. And I did this. I had to do it on Saturday when I woke up the next day after Naughty Moms Night Out because sometimes things get a little fuzzy. Like, did I really hear what I heard? And by the way, let me just say this, that I think that this was probably the classiest of Naughty Moms Night Out that we've ever had, which means it probably was not a good idea for us to have that much class. I hate to say this. It was wonderful. The Daxton was a wonderful place. But I'm wondering if maybe we class it down for next year's and maybe we go to like a VFW hall or something like that.

The Knights of Columbus.

Because I realized that everybody did a really nice job of classing themselves up and looking beautiful and, you know, making sure that they look great. But by the end of the night, everybody kept looking for us to bring on the crazy, so to speak. Like they're all like, we're the strippers. Did you guys get asked about a thousand times when naked dudes were showing up?

Well, you know what's so funny? I did, and then I don't know who was around me. Did you guys see that random guy walk in with the sunglasses?

That good-looking black guy, right? Yes!

The guy with the drinks! Yes! And then one girl goes, the stripper's here! I'm like, we don't have strippers as part of our evening. But then he did start buying drinks for everybody, so they were happy.

Who were those guys, and how did they get past security?

I don't know, but he bought drinks for probably, KP, you're standing right there. He bought drinks for probably 30 women. Yes, and I forgot about that drink that he gave me. Yes, yeah. They had to find me. They're like, this guy got you a drink.

Actually, he was a super fan, and he looked for every single one of us. He was like. He was so sweet. He was like, where's Shannon? where's kp where's lydia where's megan where's mike like he knew everybody's name on the show because he listens every single morning and then he was like i want to buy everybody drinks and it was funny you're right when he walked in i noticed every single woman started looking a little kind of like oh here it comes and then one woman came up to me she and by the way she was so sweet she's a school teacher and she goes up and she goes i have to be really careful because i'm a school teacher there's actually a couple of them there one one person was a school teacher who won and could not put it in her name she had to put it in her friend's name because she didn't want her superintendent to know she was coming to this party but okay which is funny because really it's just celebrating moms i mean you know we just call it naughty because yeah every now and again moms can be naughty when that guy walked in the door this uh mom walks up to me and goes should i shut the blinds because you know how the daxton where we're right on their street level there and you it was like the the rooms that we were in made it feel like we were in like somebody's home because there were these really cool rooms like libraries with this really nice furniture fireplaces yeah and we had like these bars that were set up and then we had you know dj playing music and all this stuff it was really cool and then when he walked in the door and everybody thought to themselves, oh, the entertainment has arrived. Maybe we should shut the blinds. And I'm like, I wondered if you guys were fooling me for something and not telling me. Because usually I know most of what's going on. And then I thought, I don't know. So that's when I walked up to him and he came up and he's like, where's everybody at? I want to buy them drinks. And he wasn't a stripper. I thought maybe he was. I thought you guys were all kind of messing around with me. Nice man. All right, so I got a couple of stories that I do want to talk about. Story number one, the mom that, and if she's listening, you got to call us up and I'll even voice disguise you. The soon-to-be divorced mom who told me that she had a private investigator follow her to Naughty Mom's Night Out. What? Yes. She told me that she's going through a divorce and she said that they're in the process and it's been kind of a little thing. And she's I don't know when she's, you know, expecting that this thing is going to go through. But she said that her husband has been having a private eye, a P.I. follow her. And she knows for a fact that this is happening because he assumes that she's doing something that she shouldn't be doing. And she said that she noticed him when she was pulling up to the Daxton Hotel and she was getting ready to walk in with her friend. and they were valet parking the car because she noticed him with a camera taking, like, pictures. Wow. Yeah, like, of her walking into the thing.

And I was like, well, let me step away from you. I do not want to get involved. Has anybody ever had that happen to them? Has anybody ever had, like, their spouse hire a PI? And you knew about it? And the PI was, yeah, like, following you or checking through some stuff. You'll have to call us up. But if she's listening, I want to hear from her. Number two, the married mom who told me that she was staying in the hotel and she and her friend that were there were meeting guys that they were going to go on Bumble and Hinge to meet from the area, that they were going to go and hang out with them. And she said that her husband is okay with it, that she was married to a guy and her husband's okay with her going out and doing this stuff. And I thought to myself, oh, that's an interesting topic. I wrote that down like right away on Saturday morning when I woke up. I'm like, the people who are married whose agreement with their significant other is that they can go and date on dating sites. You know, how many people are married and on a hinge or a bumble or whatever, you'll to call us up and tell us with that and got permission and got permission to do it she said that she's not from uh where we were having naughty mom's night out because we were having it in birmingham and she said she wanted to test out what the guys were like in that area and it was funny because i said to her i go well it's funny that you say that because i think that there's a lot of guys that are in this area that for some reason are going to find that to be like a turn on to have a married woman meet him at a hotel, like a nice little hotel like that. And then last but certainly not least, the mojo in the morning, Misfit Steve, a.k.a. Zach, who is our audio producer now. We introduced him to our Naughty Moms. I was going to say, our bachelorettes. They weren't bachelorettes. To our naughty moms. He Thank you.

was in rare form on Friday.

Holy cow. I mean, for sure. We didn't need a stripper. We had Misfit Steve as the entertainment.

Number one story was the greatest story with him was, and come in here for a second. Will you come in? Number one was there was a woman that was there, a mom that was there, beautiful woman, who looks like Sharon from WMXD or whatever the station is. And I even thought that it was Sharon. But Zach thought it was so much Sharon that he went up and bought her a drink. And then he comes up to me. And this is how Zach was talking the whole night.

He was talking the whole night going, Mojo, did you know that there's a woman here who looks like Sharon but is not Sharon?

Okay. When you drink, you slow talk You sound like a WWF wrestler Like the Hulk Hey brother Hey man It's kind of like that

But the funniest is when we said that he was Misfit Steve, they were more excited about meeting Misfit Steve than they were about some guy named Zach who was drunk. Okay, so that was one of the stories. Then the other story was I have never seen a guy walk away with more phone numbers after a naughty mom's night out than Zach, a.k.a. Misfit Steve, because, or it should be the other way, Misfit Steve, a.k.a. Zach. He was asking, like, single moms for their phone numbers, and you got a couple of them, didn't you? I got at least five. But you were doing it in front of the others. What was that? Was that a tactic to make them all jealous? 100%. Yes. It was? You sound different now that you're clean-cut sober.

I'm awake and well. We're good. Hold on.

I am not Sharon. I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. He walked over to me. He's like, oh my gosh, it's you. I love you. And I was like, me? Is he talking to me? I was like, oh, hi. And he's like, how was your Friday since Sundays?

wait hold on explain explain that story okay sharon is one of my favorite people in the world that works at the station and i did her like comfort nights um she she runs mxd so i would do her her you know broadcast and i walked up to this lady thinking that she's sharon and i swear taiwanda you were like well my my fridays are better than my sundays so i totally thought you were sharon oh that's a weird thing to walk up to say somebody well i thought it was sharon so i know you're asking her about her event yeah i was asking her about her event oh i just feel so

dumb i didn't know i didn't know what you were talking about and then you were like no i feel like they're holding back. And I was like, oh, am I? And he's like, come, come. Talk to me in the corner. And I was like, no, it's fine.

Don't get cornered by him, though. Oh, God. By the way.

Can I buy you a drink? I was like, sure. And then it was, I think Lydia's mom came over and was like, oh, my gosh, I love you. I love you. And I was like, who the hell do they think I am?

the funniest was when uh when zach walked up to me and he goes and i even bought her a drink he felt he felt so duped he got scammed and you're yeah you were so honest with him that you weren't sure on or you're not the person he never said anything or anything so i was just like

what is he talking about and then another lady came and she's like oh my gosh you're on I love you and I bust out laughing like oh my gosh she thinks I'm Shiran you do look so much like her

which is a compliment by the way she's stunning

no, Shiran is gorgeous it's gorgeous but I was so confused like oh and then when she said it and I was just sitting there laughing like oh my gosh they think I'm Shiran so I think someone tips Lydia's mom because I looked up and she got the mom look and she was shaking her head looking at me like ooh, ooh, ooh

Ha, ha, ha.

Like, he was so disappointed in me. And I was like, sorry, I didn't even know what you guys were talking about.

She was more disappointed in me, I promise you.

Tywanda, did you have fun? I had a blast. I had a blast. It was such a good time. You guys know how to throw a good party. Yeah.

It was so much fun. You and your friends were great. It was so much fun to meet everybody. And, man, I'm going to say this to Zach. Zach was the man. He got a bunch of phone numbers. And I think we need to pull those numbers out and see if they gave you legit numbers today. Definitely.

That's right. Me and my husband both have Bumble. Well, we don't have it anymore, but we both had it.

So you guys are in a committed married relationship, but yet you guys both separately go out and try to pick people up on dating sites?

we have been married for almost 10 years um we were going through kind of like a rough time in our marriage at the moment and we were just like we don't know if we want to separate or if we want to be together so we decided to do a little experiment and see what was out there and um it actually made our relationship better because although we did meet some cool people on bumble So it brought us back to each other.

Wow. Okay. There was no jealousy involved during any of that time?

No. We talked about everything. We knew, you know, the people that we were meeting. We talked about that. We had rules. Like, you know, certain things weren't allowed. What wasn't allowed? I'm curious. We weren't, like, allowed to be intimate with them or anything like that. Okay. Yeah, it was an interesting experiment. It worked for us.

So you couldn't be intimate, but you could go out on dates, like you could go have dinner or drinks with somebody?

Yep.

Would you guys ever go out on dates in the same restaurant at the same time?

Sure, why not?

Really? So you would be at one table with one dude, and he'd be at a table with another woman, and you'd go home with each other?

We talked about, it's so funny, Mojo, because we even talked about hooking up two of our Bumble dates because they seemed perfect for each other.

I don't know. I don't know. I wasn't there. I walked away. I let my friend handle that.

Yeah. He's a really nice guy. He's actually, honestly, a sweet guy. Like, I'm going to say this to you, he works his butt off and, you know, we're very happy and proud to have him here. But I think he's got to be careful of working a room, literally. Like, I don't know if necessarily getting a girl's phone number after you just got the other girl next to her's phone number is a good idea.

He was giving married women his number. I know for a fact that there's a teacher who's like, oh, I just got Zach's phone number. and I was like, you just told me how married you are. So, a lot of stuff to talk about from the weekend. A lot of things to give away. We obviously have already given you a chance to win Taylor Swift tickets. Now, Jonas Brothers tickets. Let's get to the dirty. And I know that there's a lot of probably Taylor in the dirty, too.

I saw this story everywhere. Saturday night, Taylor Swift was hanging in Philly for her Eras tour. And she noticed a security guard kind of giving a Swifty a hard time. While she was singing Bad Blood, Taylor spotted something happening in the crowd. to the point that she stopped singing to shout at this particular security guard who looked like he was antagonizing one of her fans.

you can hear her shouting she's fine she wasn't doing anything trying to get this person to stop the woman her name is kelly inglis kelly kelly kelly love that uh spoke out and said she and her friends were absolutely yelled at by this security guard every time they touched the railing.

Okay. I was the girl that Taylor talked to last night. Basically, the guard had been harassing our group all night. He just kept telling us not to touch the rail. Every time we did anything, he was on top of us. We're dancing. We're having fun. He didn't like it. Taylor noticed that I was having fun and that he didn't like it and she didn't like it fans were just loving that taylor

did this uh the security guard ended up getting the boot by the way and the night ended in a

pretty great way they kicked the security guard out sure did sure did another one and then he basically like got escorted out and then they offered us free tickets for tonight it wasn't this big crazy thing it was like just a bunch of girls having a good time and he he didn't want Let's have fun.

Yeah, so they went to last night's show on Taylor's Dime, which was kind of cool.

I want to listen to that one more time. So this is Taylor singing that song, and they're telling the security guard to stop.

She wasn't doing anything. Wow.

Former Bachelor star Colton Underwood and his partner Jordan C. Brown tied the knot after dating for more than two years. He is a former NFL player, obviously one of the stars of The Bachelor before coming out. But they got married in front of about 200 guests. Blake Shelton receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame over the weekend. The country music superstar and TV personality received the star on Friday morning. His wife, Gwen Stefani, The Voice host, Carson Daly, and his longtime friend and former The Voice coaster, Adam Levine, were all on hand to share in the special occasion.

I kind of stopped checking things off my list of accomplishments, great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen. And so this is just icing on the cake, but I love you so much, and that's the greatest thing that's happened along this journey.

Gwen also got up to speak about her husband.

The reason Blake Shelton is here today on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is because you are part of the country dream, the Hollywood dream, and you are part of the American dream. And everybody knows you are my dream come true.

Blake dedicated the star to his late brother Ritzy, who died in a car accident many, many years ago. Cash App founder Bob Lee, we're learning a lot more about him. For starters, he was allegedly a regular at underground sex and drug parties with other San Francisco elites, including the sister of the man accused of killing him. In fact, word on the street was that Bob was sleeping with Kezar Momeni, the sister of Nima Momeni, who is charged with his death. Prosecutors have previously said that Nima stabbed Bob, who again is the founder of Cash App, stabbed him in the heart after promising to come down hard on him and grilling him over his relationship with his sister. Friends of Bob gave him the nickname Crazy Bob and they said they feared that he had fallen into this dangerous lifestyle and had surrounded himself with the wrong group of people before his death. And a Michigan woman was in the early stages of labor while receiving her diploma at the Henry Ford College graduation. Just wanted to have that special moment before she had another special moment.

But then I literally graduated and had the baby.

On the big day, the first one, graduation day, it was a family member who happens to work for Henry Ford College who got the ball rolling.

Because she was asking her colleagues, is there a way that I could just go straight into the auditorium and not, like, exactly walk in with everybody. They said yes, and then that lady that she talked to talked to another lady who talked to the president, and the president was like, well, we'll just seat her on stage and give her her diploma and get her in and out.

Then things really started moving. Less than half an hour into the ceremony, the president of the college calls an audible.

This student has told me and us, I'm going to walk across that stage despite the fact that... that I am 38 weeks pregnant.

He told the whole of everybody, hey, she's dilated, she's 38 weeks pregnant, so we're just going to get her in and out right now. I love that. Isn't that insane?

She was on stage smiling ear to ear, diploma in hand.

Wow, look at her.

She was ushered off stage and taken to the hospital, where on Monday she gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl. She knows that she could have easily skipped out on the ceremony and still walked away with the same results, But there was a reason she wanted to walk with her classmates that day.

I remember how excited I was for high school and when I walked that stage. So I was like, nothing's going to stop me. Even if I have the baby and have to hold her in my arms.

Can you imagine that?

Yeah, her name is Kelsey Huddy, by the way. So a double congratulations to her this morning.

Well, do we know what they named the baby?

Oh, I can find out for you.

Yeah, somebody knows Kelsey. You'll have to call us up and tell us. That's awesome. Congratulations.

move us upstairs and by the way I'm totally opposed to this unless I'm with you guys and part of and then I'm fine then I'm like Chelsea my wife show a little cleavage or something here Guys can't do this No We have no way of ever being able to get A guy privilege of going up

That's so true because what would be the equivalent? I can't think of anything

I don't know I've actually gone up and tried to flirt with the girls To get upstairs Well not upstairs That sounds weird But to get to wherever it was that we wanted to go to And they just think I'm creepy Then they kind of look at it that way But does this work all the time? Has this ever worked for you? Have you ever flirted to get something? And what did you end up flirting to get? Have I met Melanie at all?

Yeah, you have.

Okay. Did she flirt?

Was she at your graduation party? She was, yeah. She was the one with her sister who they were entertaining everybody majority.

Oh, I've met Melanie.

Yeah, she's cute. Yeah, she's very, very cute. So it's funny because I see this happening a lot at like places like that, like places where they're very, very popular, like clubs, you know, where the and it's usually maybe that's why the management always puts the the girl up front to do the deciding of where people are going to be because they realize that she won't show any favoritism towards a predominantly, you know, female crowd that comes in.

right you know right a lot of those places i you know they they take reservations i've never been to the place that lydia was talking about but they'll take reservations um you know and they'll make it seem like they're totally booked but really they'll leave a table or two open for a group of hot girls like lydia and melanie and their friends yeah or because they want they want those pretty people to be in their their photos and oh yeah they want it to be a crowd that that

looks good i was always uh sat in the basement by the way that's a perfect place that they

should be putting we've got a really cozy table for you right here honestly i was just happy to

get in to be perfectly honest you know i figured there's a way to kind of sneak in but uh mary what's going on we're talking about how the girl privilege does work still um guys can just give them money wait take you wherever you want to go so if you just if if you offer that girl money She'll let you go upstairs?

Why not?

I don't know. Sometimes that doesn't work. Sometimes that doesn't happen. Like, I've done that before.

How much money are you giving them in the hotel?

Well, let me explain. I'm very generous, by the way. There have been times where, and I don't go to bars or anything like that, but if I go to a restaurant and the place is packed or something, and they realize, anytime a restaurant will tell you that it's over an hour, I'm getting back in my car and I'd rather go, you know, drive through Chick-fil-A and sit in their line for it. And sit in their line for it, exactly. But I've offered like a couple of times where I'm like, hey, you know, thank you so much. I one time, the more money I gave, the more of a bigger douche I looked when I didn't get seated. And then one time, and that was I gave like 40 bucks. And then one time I just said, you know what, I'm just going to give like, I think it was $10 or $20 to the person. And they actually were, oh, okay, good. So I don't know if that necessarily does work.

Yeah. When I was a hostess at a country club, it was my first job, aside from, like, babysitting. And people would give me tips all the time to either move up on the reservation or to get a certain table that I had the best view. Did you do it? Oh, yeah, I did. Absolutely.

Yeah. So, Mojo, put them a hundred. Put a hundred in the guy's hand or the girl's hand. He will get what you want. Fifty, forty.

I was cheap.

I did it for 20 bucks.

I don't necessarily know if I really care to go that much. What if I go upstairs? Question for this. What if I go upstairs and it is really bad? Can I ask for my money back?

Yeah, because I sit there and I think to myself, man, that is just a waste of it. I mean, I guess if it's a bunch of us, like we're all kind of like hanging out, you know, and we want to get a table or whatever. I remember there used to be a place. Are you from the Detroit area or Grand Rapids or Toledo?

So there used to be a bar that is where the Maury is in downtown Birmingham. And I can't remember what the hell it was called. But it was like, I used to call it, it was the place that I always felt underdressed in. What was it called? Chen Chow. Chen Chow. That's what it was called. And I remember walking in there. It was a group of us. We had a whole big, you know, neighborhood group of everybody. And I walked into the place and I thought I was like the big deal, you know, Mojo in the morning. Here he comes, you know, he never goes out to bars, you know, he's home and home with his family and kids and stuff. I walk into the place and I walked in and I did the whole, hey, you know, can we get a table? They're like, no, they sat us so far in the back of this place. I'm not kidding you. you could smell and hear the bathroom toilet every single time wow was that in the beginning of your career no it was honestly probably 10 years ago or 11 whenever that place was open before it became what it is now but on it but i i couldn't uh i couldn't get a a table there and then i would because you and you'd see all these athletes and stuff like pistons players and things like that getting in and tigers players that big that is macho yeah well you know what So as a broke guy, I'm just going to B-dubs. I'm not going to deal with it. I'm not going to deal with paying to get in. And do call-ahead seating, right? Yeah, absolutely. Can I put myself on the list? What's up, Tanisha?

The uncomfortableness of going out with Shannon and her fiancé, Wes, who Wes joined us late in the evening. He joined us at Aldona's to make sure that Shannon got home safely. and explain what happened from there, Mike.

So we get there and we're sitting down at the table and we see Wes walk in and there's a seat by me and Shannon's at the opposite end of the table. So I'm assuming that we're all going to shift down a seat and that doesn't happen. Wes just sits down, which is fine because I love chatting with a guy and my daughter's like really into running right now. So I wanted to chat with him about that. He's a track coach, by the way. That's what that is, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I start chatting with him And within three minutes of chatting with him, he goes, Shannon, stop it. We're at the table. And I look over at Shannon and Shannon's got this huge like Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland smile on her face, like a giant smile. And she I'm like, OK, whatever, whatever. And for the next like half an hour, I think Shannon's just doing sexual things across the table. And Wes cannot have a conversation with me because he just keeps going, Shannon, Shannon, stop it. Shad, I'm so uncomfortable right now. And I'm like, do you want us to scoot down? And he's like, no, no, no, no, no. You're fine, you're fine, you're fine. You guys have to sit by each other from now on. There's no across the table from each other. I can't talk to him. I can't even have a conversation because he just kept getting flustered because of whatever it is you were doing across the table.

I did something this Mother's Day that I want to shout out to all the guys. listen up because it kind of came together through the help of a very good friend of mine that was listening to the show and then having Chelsea on the show. And I want to say this, I gave Chelsea a gift for Mother's Day that she said was the best Mother's Day gift that she had ever gotten in her life. And it cost me $10 and 74 cents. Literally, I know that because I looked at my Amazon receipt on this and when I gave it to her it caused for lots of tears now I feel kind of you know bad that I can't share and play what happened but I promised Luke that if I do or if I played it he said to me or he promised me he would never talk to me as a dad ever again I mean that's so honestly it is such it's so personal between Chelsea and Luke that I'm gonna do that, but I will share exactly what happened. So remember last week when I went on the air and I was talking, I was trying to get Chelsea to cry. And I said to, uh, to you guys, you know, okay, you know, we're gonna talk mother's day is Chelsea's last mother's day with Luke at home before he goes away to college, you know, stuff like that. Well, I was talking to Chelsea and I asked her questions about Luke that I thought would get her emotional. And one of the questions that I just randomly asked was, hey, what was the book that you read to Luke when you were putting him to bed every single night? Because Chelsea was really big on reading to the kids every single night. And the kids loved it. That was their way. They had to go to bed with a good book read and that was her way to kind of get them to bed. And she said, The Giving Tree, which is a book by author Shel Silverstein. Such a classic, such a good one. Well, very good friend of the Mojo in the Morning show. You guys know our friend Sarah, who's out in Houston. Oh, Sarah Pepper. Sarah Pepper. Yes. She listens to our podcasts. So she'll hear our show on podcasts a lot, and she'll randomly catch a segment or two. She listened to that segment.

I were talking and she said, have you gotten Chelsea a Mother's Day gift? And I said, yeah, I got an idea of what I'm going to get. And I was going to spend, you know, a couple few hundred dollars on a wedding or a Mother's Day gift for her. She said, I got a great idea. You should get that book. And what you should do is you should have Luke write in that book how much Chelsea means to him and then give her that as a book, as a, you know, a gift. And we were sitting her randomly talking back and forth and then we all because we always in radio think of what's the audio segment to this whole thing like everything has to have an audio component so it sounds good on the air and the audio component of this that I thought I'd be able to play but I can't because Luke doesn't want me to was and then maybe have him read the book to Chelsea so that she can anytime that he's away at college can go and watch a video of Luke you know reading her, the book that she read to him so many times. I would

cry like a baby.

It was the Chelsea date. I don't know if Chelsea's, hold on, let me just see real quick. Because as

a mom, that's one of those core memories. Like you remember you remember every word to those books and you remember like the snuggles you were getting, you know every night. Hello? Chels?

on this whole thing because of the boys um so what were you thinking what were you thinking a when you got a because i showed her the video first i didn't even show her the book first showed her the video first and there's luke sitting down with the book in hand saying mom you read this to me now i'm going to read it to you what were you first thinking uh i mean i just all of a sudden got super emotional very very emotional and then as he was reading it and he got emotional It was amazing.

First, I was concerned he couldn't read. But then I realized he was just being emotional. Like, you know, you worry, oh, my gosh, can this kid not really read?

No. No. By the way, that's the funniest part is that all I kept thinking the whole time was, God, Luke, just read it right. Just go. I've never had Luke read to me since he was like a little kid. And then he read his letter to you, which was awesome.

Yeah, very sweet. So he wrote the letter, like, actually in the pages of the book? Yeah, it's at the end of the book.

And can I just say this to the listeners without giving away what Luke wrote in the letter? His letter was about, you know, what we've been talking about on this show for, like, the last month or so about the emotions of him being our last, going away to college, the, you know, fact that we're going to be, you know, miss him. But he kind of was giving Chelsea comfort in the fact that he's going to be okay. Yeah. And he used references from that book. Yeah. Like, if Luke's English teacher is listening, you did great with him. Because I'm going to say this to you. What he did was better than anything I've ever seen him do in school. like what he did in that one particular thing was way better than any uh homework assignment or thing that luke has ever done and it meant the most and i credit his teachers for that god am i a good husband shannon are you there hi listener hi hi shannon how great of a husband

Now let's turn to Mike and his Mother's Day Because Mike's Mother's Day was really really special So special That they almost needed to call the fire department special let's just tell tell you that oh jeez so how was ali's mother's day

it was good it was good we uh we got her gifts the kids made her gifts uh we got her a build a bear with the audio from last week where we had kids saying why they love their mom so we grabbed that and we put it in a build a bear that was really sweet she loved it um and then we were going to do breakfast in bed which we do every single mother's day but cecily who is my daughter and she's eight years old, is we've kind of been showing her how to cook a little bit, but we're there every single time. And so she took it upon herself to get up early that morning and woke us both up with a plate of, she made like this little egg sandwich. And I was like, wait a minute, how did you make that? And she goes, I cooked it on the stove. And I said, Cecily, you are incredibly allergic to eggs. I have to crack open the eggs for you, otherwise you break out. She's like, oh, I figured it out. Oh, no, I did not know that. Yeah, yeah, and then it's getting better, but yeah, as of right now, she's still pretty allergic to it. And then as I'm waking up, I'm like, wait a minute, how did you cook this egg? And so I immediately shot up and said, are you cooking on the stove right now? She's like, no, not anymore, I was. So I walked downstairs, and I, what is that smell? Oh, geez. She had started the oven, the stovetop part of it, and cooked it, cooked it all, and thankfully nothing happened, and then went and played video games or watched TV for like 20 minutes, and then went upstairs, because she didn't want to wake us up too early, then went upstairs and brought us the plate. In that time, she had left the burner on, but just not lit. So our kitchen is full of gas, and it smells really, really bad. And had, I mean, had she done anything else? Had she tried to light and do anything else? Because she, like, even the toaster, I don't know what would have happened. It would have been a huge, huge fire. And I don't know what would have happened in that moment. I have no idea. I couldn't predict even what would have happened. But I went through, like, being terrified, but also, like, don't scare your child because she's, you know, trying to do these new things. And also was trying to be so sweet. Her intention was so good.

So, wait, so she was making her mom breakfast in bed because she knows that that's the thing that you guys do.

Yes.

And that of her being, again, too young to be using the stove almost caused for a fire.

So, I mean, your heart probably was like, this is the most amazing thing ever, but I'm going to kill this kid.

Yeah. Well, yes, because it is incredibly, she's, she's got a huge heart, just the biggest heart in the entire world. And what she was doing was something she had seen and something we, you know, she didn't want to wake us up. She wanted to do it on her own. And she started to get to that stage. And Shannon, you know, because our daughters are the same, are close to the same age, where they want to, you know, do things on their own. And they're starting to move towards that a little bit. But at the same time, you almost blew us up. Wow. Like you, it was, it's terrifying. Like, my stomach dropped because you smell that, and you're like, what else is lit? Yeah. Like, don't move. Nobody do anything because it was, I mean, it was bad. Like, you know where it hurts your head. Like, yeah, it was bad.

Because it sounded to me like the gas was on for a while there, and it was kind of filling up the room a little bit, huh? Yeah, and you could hear the soap. You could hear it going, how amazing of a kid, though, is that? Allie's on with us right now. Allie. Yeah. What an, are you with Cecily right now? Yeah. Okay, Cecily, can she hear us? No, I have you. Before you do that. Okay, I know you probably were freaking out when you found out what she was doing, but how special was that that she did that? It was really cute. She was so excited.

Well, that's the thing, guys. you know it kind of kept coming up in the conversation even when it wasn't part of the subject matter and so I realized that this was something kind of really important to him and I sort of asked him you know what was his deal with it and he said well he just really is um a huge huge no huge fan and um uh I thought maybe he was kidding about it and he said no no no really And to prove the point, he told me that he had just come back from going to Vegas where he went to their residency every night. And he let it drop that he spends a lot of time and a lot of money following these guys all over to see their concerts or any. He's like a super fan.

I think that she was perfectly right in that. I mean, to this day and age, you kind of really don't know who's on the other side of the computer until they reveal themselves. And so that type of obsessive compulsive behavior or just strong likeness for a group, a band who probably doesn't know you exist, is not unreasonable for her to wonder. But why is that bad?

There's nothing wrong with liking the band. It's the amount that you like it. And it's just the thought that possibly that type of likeness can spill over to other areas.

Well, first it was Ellen DeGeneres. And now Kelly Clarkson. According to nearly a dozen staffers for the Kelly Clarkson Show, that work environment is real toxic. One current and 10 former employees say they were overworked. They didn't make enough money for what they were required to do. And they also say that working for the show became traumatizing to their mental health. Now, it's really important to note here that every single one of them stressed it's not Kelly herself who's the issue, which when we were talking about Ellen, Ellen was part of the issue. But one former employee of Kelly said she's fantastic. She's a person who never treats anyone with anything but dignity. They say, though, it's the show's producers, including the executive producer and showrunner Alex Duda. The employees say they were subjected to screaming, swearing, bullying, and all sorts of other verbal abuse, excuse me. And they said that HR pretty much just ignored their complaints. Multiple workers said they quit because it got to the point where they couldn't take it anymore. So Kelly obviously heard about this, got on Instagram to respond to the accusations, and said to find out that anyone is feeling unheard.

or disrespected on this show is unacceptable. I have always been and will continue to be committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. She also made a show, or a note, excuse me, that her show is moving. It's relocating to the East Coast. And she said she's going to make sure that leadership training is in place for all of the senior staff, including herself. So this does not happen again.

This would never happen on the Drew Barrymore show. I agree with you. I would be just shocked.

And the reason that he did that, only performing for 30 minutes, was that he felt like the crowd's response to all of the artists was lackluster. And so even after everybody else was taking the stage, he got back up on the stage to announce the show was over. He was done. He said, we ain't about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this spit. We work way too hard. He said, these are my mother effin' artists. He said, that was Twist. We are young money. We all appreciate y'all time. But he was done.

Wow. I would be so mad if I went to that show. I mean, I guess I get it, but I would be furious if I paid all this money and went to that show and they just were like, nah, we're done. I wonder why the crowd didn't like any of the other artists. I don't know. What was the story there? I mean, it's hard because his other artists were like Nicki Minaj and Tyga and Drake. They're never going to be that.

Exactly, yep. Jamie Foxx's family clearing up some rumors regarding the medical complication that landed him in the hospital for several weeks. The family revealing there is nothing to worry about after his recent health scare. I know the rumor that was trending on social media last week was that his family and friends were preparing for the worst. His daughter Corinne hopping on Instagram to write, My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating. In fact, he was just playing pickleball yesterday.

You know, what's interesting is every time I watch one of his commercials for, was it Caesars or whatever, one of the commercials for like the dating or the betting apps, I feel weird with it running, thinking that the news is that the guy's dying, you know?

Right. And his family is swearing. I mean, albeit they're being very private about what exactly, you know, he is battling. They're saying he's okay. We're saying he's good. might i say we had a fun promotion on friday our naughty mom's night out i want to make sure that we say thank you to everybody that needs all thanks uh thank you to the great people from the daxton hotel we love you guys so much we treated our listeners and all of us like we were superstars it was actually really really nice i uh i joked this morning but i'm i'm being honest i felt like it was almost uh to a point where it was too fancy schmancy like it was like really nice and i didn't feel like i deserved it or any of us i might have deserved it but our listeners did and uh to be perfectly honest with you uh if i didn't seem like i was grateful on friday which i thought that i actually did a good job of faking it i was wearing jeans that were so tight on me that i had no circulation in my pants my legs

You kept asking us, do you think these are too small? Are these too small? Oh, my God.

First off, I have been wearing the same two pair of jeans for the last couple of years. And even if I go out, I'll wear the same pair of jeans or I'll wear a pair of Lululemon dress pants. Not dress pants, but nicer pants.

Yeah.

And then I'll wear a quarter zip and a golf shirt because, honestly, I've gotten to that point in my life where I've given up. Stop. And so I went on Friday. I thought I had clothes that fit because I lost weight with Ideal U.

Which everybody was commenting on, by the way, of all the pictures from the night. Well, I have to say this.

There's something to this stuff I was wearing because, and now I've realized this, I went in my closet and I have two sets of jeans. I've got a set of jeans that are the set of jeans that I was at my skinniest.

Okay.

And then I have a set of jeans that I was at my fattest.

That's normal.

And I tried on the jeans that were my skinniest, and I was, like, freaked out because they felt really, really tight. And so then I said, all right, well, I've got to wear my fattest jeans. They were so big that I had to, like, double loop my belt a little bit. So it was like, oh, my God, these things are, like, falling down on me. My, you know, ass was saggy because I have no butt anyway, but yet it was such a big thing. They look like clown pants on me. So I said, I got to figure something out because this is late in the game. Like, we're all going to get together over at Shannon's house and meet at, you know, 4.30. And I had woke up late. I woke up at, like, 4.20. So I tried the skinny jeans on again, and I squeezed into these things.

Did you do this thing where you, like, bend and get up? Oh, I did.

I was like, I was like, getting every single last bit of my fat ass into that thing. And I got into it and I'm like, can I buckle it? Okay, I can. And then I go and I look in the mirror and I go, oh my God, these actually kind of look good on me.

They did.

But they hurt me so bad that, and I couldn't even feel my legs. And then I thought, if I get into my car, my Tahoe to drive over, I'm going to rip these things. So I was like driving, standing up almost, you know, like I'm trying to like prop myself in a position. And then when I got to your house, I got out of the car and I'm like, oh, this is a bad idea. I'm like walking up. I parked at the bottom of your driveway and everybody was parked. So there was no way to walk up the driveway. I had to like climb a hill that you had next to your driveway. You know what I'm talking about? On the left side of your driveway. Yeah. And I started climbing that hill and this was me climbing the hill. I'm going to show you, Shannon. And Mike and Megan, you guys can't see it. I'm doing this. And I'm like, I'm, and I'm going, oh, this is going to be really, really bad. And then I got inside. And when I got inside.

It was literally the first thing you said to us.

I'm like, guys, these things look like too small. Because I brought in the back of my Tahoe. I had, I had literally the fat jeans in the back of the Tahoe. So I put the fat jeans in.

I did not think they looked too small. Did you, Megan? No, I didn't think so. Can I tell you the size difference?

The fat jeans were 40s. The skinny jeans were 36s.

Wow.

And so I'm probably a 38. All right? I'm probably like comfortably a 38. I almost hurt myself so bad in those things. But the comments were amazing from people.

I was like loving this. Everybody was talking about how skinny you looked.

No, I'd actually prefer like 10.22. actually 10 28 when we ended 10 30 just like a quick shout out because i it physically hurts me to say anything nice about you um and i have to give you lots of praise and thanks and tell you how amazing you are oh god okay i'll try to keep the vomit down so um essentially i could cry i don't think you understand how much you mean to me especially on Friday night because we had a very late night on Friday and I had a very long drive home from naughty mom's night out and my dad was actually really worried he kept doing the whole like are you sure I can't get you a hotel room are you do you want me to come and pick you up and then I'll drive you home and then we'll get your car tomorrow it's like no no I'm just gonna come home it'll be fine it'll be fine and all of send him on the phone with my dad and i go i gotta go and he was like what and i was like i gotta go mojo's calling me i gotta go and i got my dad and i was worried that you had called me because i was like oh no i'm gonna get in trouble did i do something and not a mom's night out that i don't remember doing am i in trouble nope not the case at all mojo just decided that the safest thing to do would be to stay on the phone with me my entire drive home until i was in my house i heard mojo get home, take off those really skinny pants because I could tell he could start breathing again and all that other stuff. And you stayed on the phone with me for over an hour and like 45 minutes until I got home.

Like, I could barely stay awake. So thank you for the call. I felt bad.

I invited both of you guys to stay over. Again, you guys are always welcome to stay at my house. Oh, I know, I know. Because I do feel bad, and I know. So here's Mike's reasoning why he doesn't stay. the middle of the night and went down to get some water and came back up and he goes hey zach didn't make it home he's sleeping on the couch on the front porch which i believed because you know i i didn't know if you got in your car and went home and you were fine to drive i wouldn't

the morning have you ever been to a business restaurant or maybe shopping in a store and the person that was taking care of you got fired in the middle of their shift or maybe got told to leave and go home this happened to Shannon at a restaurant it's actually

my sister or your sister I'm sorry your sister it's okay yeah my sister my little sister Jacqueline and a bunch of her friends went out to a local Mexican restaurant this weekend. And she said from the moment they sat down, they noticed that something was up with their waiter. Like, he just seemed really off to them. And so they all went around, and of course he gets their drink order first, and they all ordered, you know, different types of margaritas. And so when he brought the drinks to the table, he puts down this bright blue margarita in front of my sister. and she's like I did not order that and she goes Shan you know me I would never complain normally I would just drink whatever you know was put in front of me but she's like it was this bright blue thing that I was not about to drink so she said to him you know this is not what I ordered and then she gave him her real order well he comes back with another drink that was totally wrong and she's like okay you know at this point like I really do want the drink that I ordered so she says again you know I didn't order this when I ordered I don't even know what she got a raspberry margarita and he goes back comes back with the wrong drink again so at this point everybody else you know she still doesn't have her drink everybody else is almost done eating and she's like okay you know whatever and everybody's on their second round of drinks the guy comes back and is just totally screwing up everybody's order so my sister they wait and wait and wait and she said probably like 30 minutes goes by before somebody comes out and it's not the same waiter it is the manager who introduces my sister and all of her girlfriends to the new waiter that is going to finish out the rest of their meal his name was michael and that guy let my sister and her friends know that the other waiter who kept screwing everything up got fired in the middle of his shift because he was

wasted. Wow. Could they tell that he was wasted or just thought he was just bad? She said when he

sat down, they knew something was off about him, but it got progressively worse as he kept bringing out the wrong drinks or just ghosted them like was nowhere to be found for 30 minutes was bringing out the wrong food. They didn't realize that he was drunk like he wasn't slurring his words or anything that they noticed, but they just kept saying he was off. And so it ended up that he got he legitimately got

fired in the middle of that shift. Wow. For being drunk. Wow. What has that ever happened to any of anybody else here? Any of you guys ever had that happen to you where like the person ended up getting fired? Well, for whatever reason, while they were, you know, serving you. I think that there's been a couple of times where I've been at restaurants where I've seen like them arguing with each other. And the next thing you know, we have somebody else that comes over and starts helping but i think the person didn't get fired i think that they honestly went to the back area and were like arguing with the management or whatever oh my sister goes i bet you he was

Our manager came in drunk. He was on medication and he came in drunk and he started sitting at all of the guest tables, giving like customers hugs and sitting down and like shaking their hand. And then a few guests were just like, excuse me, miss, like your manager won't get away from my table. And it ended up being up that like corporate, the general manager, the district manager all had to come in and escort them out through the back area. Oh, wow. Oh, yeah. It was awful. It was just, it was so bad.

And, um, yeah, we ended up having to fire him and apologizing to

all of our tables that he had taken. Does it happen often or is that a really unusual thing

to have happen when you you know manage restaurants and stuff yeah so i had worked at three different locations and i had a lot of waiters and waitresses that i oversaw and he was the only one that i ever ran into so i wouldn't say it was like a normal thing but um but yeah do you ever catch waiters

or waitresses ever taking drinks for themselves like at that little side area by the bar like Like they, you know, sit there and grab a shot or something while they're working?

No. Or at least not at the restaurant that I worked at. I mean, maybe at like more of like a, you know, like a hole-in-the-wall bar or like a bar restaurant that's like maybe like family-owned. But I worked at like a casual dining restaurant. Okay.

Because I've been to restaurants before where it's like I'll offer to buy them a drink. And my favorite is they'll get it, put it on the table like they're giving it to us and then quickly look around. and then they'll take it.

listen up. I'll, I'll get some ideas and some advice on this. And he said that he ended up getting a tattoo for his mom. And you know who this is, by the way, it's a Craig gas,

we're talking and, you know, I'm like, Oh, Kim, you know what? I've always said I wasn't a tattoo person and I wasn't going to do a tattoo, but maybe that went through the thing I would do, like get my mom's initials or I have my mom writing, um, love you, mom, or love mom. Yeah. And I've, and I've, Chelsea made them into cufflinks, but I never wear cufflinks. I'm not a big dressier up kind of guy, you know? So she did make it into this necklace. So I have a necklace too with love mom, which is cool, but it'd be kind of nice to have it on my, uh, on my, my person, so to speak. So I thought to myself, okay, Craig, tell me a little bit about what you got. He got his mom's initials and he put them on his wrist.

Okay. So like where my tattoo is.

Right. Which is, is that a very painful place?

No, not at all.

I didn't think so, but. So I was talking to him some more and I said, can I ask you an honest question? And he goes, yeah. And this was well after we were talking about his mom. And I said, when you take care of yourself, when you flog the knob, do you use your right hand or left hand? And out of the blue, he looks at me like, why would you ask me a question like that? Like, why would you, of all things, talk to me about when I am, you know, masturbating? It's not illegal.

It's frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane.

Yeah. Like, why is that? And I go, I'm just wondering, like, right hand or left hand? And he goes, and he kind of, like, does the motion, like, to go, you know, how guys do that, Mike, where they're kind of like, oh, let me look. He goes right to his right hand to do it, and I go, your mom is looking at you every single time.

Mama's watching. He's got mom there, you know, with her initials. And I said, that could be the worst tattoo I have ever in my life hurt anybody getting. And he goes, oh, my God, I never thought about it that way.

First Entertainer of the Year. Only a country artist would do something like that. All over the floor, and there he is with a leaf blower to get rid of that confetti. And get ready. Pickleball is coming to your local mall, replacing empty bed bath and beyond Old Navy and Saks off its stores. Malls need new tenants to fill vacant spaces and draw customers beyond their traditional department stores and clothing stores. And a lot of mall owners are thinking pickleball is the answer. They know their consumers are craving fun, social experiences after we've all been cooped inside, you know, for many, many years. And so they've already done the theaters, arcades and amusement park thing. The new mix at malls is going to include stuff like skydiving, virtual golf, breweries, and America's fastest growing sport, pickleball. Which, by the way, the number of people playing pickleball grew by 159% over the past three years to 8.9 million official players.

Speaking of that, of Naughty Mom's Night Out, a couple thank yous again that I wanted to throw out there. I wrote some down here. Thank you to Buff City Soap and our friends over at Buff City Soap who gave us a bunch of little prize things for the moms to go home with. What was it that the moms went home with, Lydia? Because I was noticing them taking stuff with them and having gifts and stuff. What did we do for them?

We got them a soap from Buff City Soap, and then we also got them bracelets from the Daxton.

Oh, that's nice. That's cool. So they had, like, really cool stuff that they can have. And I understand that the people that got hotel rooms got something in their room, too, like the Daxton. Some people came up to me and told me this. And it could honestly be that you just drank off the minibar and it got charged in your room. But I heard that they actually provided you with, like, a bottle of champagne and some other good stuff, too. Like, people were telling me that on Friday. And all I kept thinking to myself was, oh, I hope they didn't get charged.

I don't know if that stuff is the free stuff. If there was a little note next to it.

Yeah, I think it might. I think that there was some stuff there that they were giving you. So I wanted to make sure that you imagine. I remember the first time that we stayed in a hotel. It was for Chelsea's grandma's funeral. And we stayed in a hotel and the boys ate the minibar. Thinking it was free. Literally ate the entire minibar.

Yeah.

I was furious. And then they were like all upset about that. They were all upset, oh, I thought that this, you know, I'm like, no, you know, it's like anything, it's funny, you could bring all the snacks and fun stuff that you want, but if your kids can buy something that costs $17 that normally you can get at, you know, a Walgreens for, you know, a fraction of the cost, that's what happens. Should we call some of the women that Zach got numbers from and try them? Yes, absolutely. Zach, bring the numbers in with you.

He was in rare form. He was hitting on all the moms on Friday night, just living his best. He gave a speech at one point.

It was amazing, wasn't it? Yes. Like he had, he did. He had like a full on like speech ready to go.

In front of everybody. Everybody was gathered into one of the rooms at the Daxton.

And I didn't tell him at all that we were doing that. Like I didn't say, hey, you know, everybody's going to get an opportunity to say hello and do whatever they want to do. You know, say, you know, do something to the, you know, to the great people that were there. And he just like randomly all of a sudden just went into it. Zach, where you at?

He was giving Lydia the numbers.

Oh, no. Let me dial him. I want to dial him direct because I want to look. Let me see. Let me see the pieces of paper that they wrote their numbers on, their names and numbers on. Oh, gosh. Look at this. So he's got, hold on a second. He's got little, what are these, napkins? or what are these things that these people are writing on?

They were the little bar napkins that they handed out.

So they were the little nice napkins and you would take their numbers and stuff?

Well, I had a pen on me and I knew that it was going to be in use.

I don't know much about you, to be perfectly honest with you. Did you ever have to do a background check when you started here? I did. Tony definitely didn't trust me. He didn't? Yeah. When we told Tony, we're like, hey, we got this guy who called us up. He's like really cool, you know, whatever. You live with your sister, is that right? Your sister and your brother-in-law? And I took care of her. And she passed away. And my sister was 23 at the time. And she took me in. And she's my motherly figure. And I love her so much. I hope you're listening right now.

Well, so we posted photos of all of our moms on social media over the week of yesterday. And I even said to you, I did not know that. And I'm so sorry because I said, is that your mom? Because she's gorgeous and very young looking. Yeah.

Yeah, she gave me a lot of, she was really upset that I posted that picture. She wanted something nice.

It was. Yeah. So we were just taking pictures and talking. And all of a sudden, I don't know who started talking about boobs and nipple size and, you know, whether they're perky or saggy or whatever, because, you know, moms tend to do that because your boobs change after you have kids. And then all of a sudden, like, the dresses were coming down, the shirts were coming up, and we were all comparing.

What I found shocking about this was how little persuasion Shannon needed. Oh, yeah. It took maybe one half of a suggestion. And I never want to hear anything about the photo that I have sent to you because this is much farther than what I sent. i sent shannon a photo a long time ago of just it was a bathroom selfie i was looking for approval before i sent it to somebody else and everybody's like oh risque you know what that's nothing that is pbs children's programming on saturday morning compared to what happened in that bathroom

I swear to God, I turned around and Shannon's top was off. I don't know what happened. Well, my top wasn't off, but I could lean over in my dress and see. You know, you could see. Like, I think I pulled my dress down.

Well, I remembered that when we were getting ready to leave your house on Friday, that the conversation was that you were going to get tape or something like that for your dress, right? Right. There was the conversation of what you would use. And I was finding it very interesting that you guys were like randomly looking for different kinds of tape and stuff like that. Yeah. So then all of a sudden you guys end up in the bathroom. And in that bathroom, you guys are just like, you know.

Well, that's the thing, guys You know, it kind of kept coming up in the conversation Even when it wasn't part of the subject matter And so I realized that this was something kind of really important to him and i sort of asked him you know what was his deal with it and he said well he just really is um a huge huge no huge fan and um uh i thought maybe he was kidding about it and he said no no no really and and to prove the point he told me that he had just come back from going to vegas where he went to their residency every night and he let it drop that he spends a lot of time and a lot of money following these guys all over to see their concerts. He's like a super fan. Nate,

It's a little bit weird, that's all, and I thought maybe it was a red flag for me. Because he's a little bit of a... I just thought, you know, that's a little obsessive and, you know, with all the stories that are out there and you meet people on, you know, these apps, you really don't know who you're getting. I just kind of thought that I maybe should not stay involved in this. I just figured maybe, you know, if something went wrong with us, then maybe he'd become a stalker or something.

It's not the like, it's the obsessiveness of it that was just taking over our conversation. Once you started, it was just, and I'm thrilled for you. That's great that that's something you like, but it just isn't of interest to me to spend my time that way.

It was a great time Thank you to Crystal and our promotions department and Lydia and KP and all of the naughty moms that came out. Mike for driving over two hours. Megan for driving over an hour. Me for wearing skinny jeans. Shannon for hosting us. Anybody else need to thank? I'm not going to thank Zach. I think we're creating a monster here. I'm a little bit concerned. Shannon looked at me when I went into a commercial break right there and said, did you think when we hired him that Zach was going to? And I said, no, I thought he was a sweet kid. I thought he was the nerdy kid when he was on the air with us trying to get that date, right?

But he is.

That is him. When we had him on, I thought to myself, I thought, this kid is like the nicest kid. He's like the take home to my, you know, family.

He was just feeling good on Friday night, just like all the moms.

Oh, my Lord.

It worked.

Yeah. And then I found out that he's got access to tickets. How did you, Mike, you brought up a really good point when you said, how did he get tickets? We didn't get, I didn't, it's Mojo in the morning. You don't even get tickets, right? Yeah, yeah. You shouldn't be giving out tickets to dates. I don't know. Maybe that's me. He's working dates. And you shouldn't be working girls in the room when you're trying to work the girl that you just gave tickets to. Yeah. Maybe he needs a little schooling. Mike, you pull him aside and talk to him. We've all been there. Anybody in the business has been there. You've had to have that talk to. Hey, calm it down. Do you remember that?

You don't invite your significant other to stuff. Why can't he?

But he doesn't have a significant other. He's working to get a significant other. Wow. And this is, Mike and I know this because as a guy, Megan, we were the goofy radio guys that used this job to try to get laid. And you know what happened? We ended up meeting our wives.

Yeah, it worked. Yeah.
