00:00:54 - 00:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning This is it

00:00:56 - 00:00:57 | Speaker 1:

Alright, are you ready?

00:00:57 - 00:01:00 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:00 - 00:01:43 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo heck. War of the Roses coming up this morning on the show. A wife suspects that her husband is cheating with a co-worker when she went to one of their work events recently and he seemed very suspicious around this co-worker. Did not seem like he wanted her to intermix or mingle with this co-worker. So that's coming up this morning at 7.40. Make sure that you're listening to the Mojo in the Morning show. Mojo in the Morning, what's the security guard's name that is over at the front desk in the morning when we walk in?

00:01:43 - 00:01:48 | Speaker 6:

I don't know her name, but she's such a beautiful spirit. I love her.

00:01:48 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 5:

I got to remember her name. She is the sweetest. Can I tell you that she opens the door, holds the door open when I pull up in the morning? because I have the one-arm thing going on right now. And she's so nice when, like, smiles, talks. We talk about her kid. We talk about, you know, she's got a swimming pool in the backyard for her kid. You see the craziest stuff in this neighborhood, by the way. What have you seen recently? Well, recently, and we're going to get into this in just a second, but this morning I saw a woman climbing out her passenger side window of her car. And when I saw her, first of all, I saw her climbing over the center council. And I thought to myself, is she performing a sexual act on somebody?

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God.

00:02:34 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 5:

Because whenever you see somebody, and then I realized herself maybe, because it was the only, have you ever seen that before where people like will try to get in and out of their car, but they can't get in and out of their car using the door? So she has to get in and out of her car using the window to get in and out of her car.

00:02:52 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 3:

That was us last night, actually. Really? you say that yeah because um so wes has a ram and like a dodge ram truck and my my stepson his his oldest son is a a pole vaulter like for track and field and so right now the poles are all strapped they they come in this like i don't even know how to describe it like it's like a container and then you have to wrap them in this mat thing and then strap them to the side of your car so one entire the entire passenger side of wes's car has this this all these poles strapped to it so you can't open any of the doors. So last night we all went to go get ice cream and we were going to take Wes's truck because my truck or my car is filled with all sorts of junk right now and nobody could fit. But anybody who was getting in on the passenger side, Kieran, I was like, just come around to the driver's side and get in. And instead he rolled down the window and jumped in

00:03:41 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 2:

through the passenger window. He did. It was so funny. He took like a running start and couldn't get in the first two times, and then finally on the third try, they, like, tumbled in.

00:03:52 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 5:

Can you imagine with the whole pole vault thing? Unless you just say, you know, running start.

00:03:55 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, you dummy, just go in your dad's side and crawl over the center console, to your point.

00:04:01 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 5:

I always find it funny when people have, like, their weird ways that they can get into their car or they have to keep their car doors closed. Are there any of those listeners, any listeners checking us out this morning that this is the norm for you? Like, here we are going, I saw something weird, but that's basically what you do every single morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's your crazy way that you have to get in and out of your car? Like, look at him.

00:04:24 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys see this? Look. Oh, look at that. I mean, he, like, goes head in right onto the ground. He's a natural.

00:04:30 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I feel like kids like doing stuff like that anyway. It's like American Gladiators for them. I had a friend who had a two-door Honda, a little coupe, back in the day. And we used to ride around, and I think he got in an accident or something like that. But you could no longer get into his passenger door without him saying, oh, hold on for a second. He would come over and, you know, like you do like secret knocks, like, yeah, it was like he did a secret knock on his car door. And then it finally popped open to get in.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

They.

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 4:

The thing I was thinking about with Kieran and his pole vaulting, as a parent, if you're the pole vaulter on the track team, is that like the tuba player on the band where you got to carry all that crap with you to and from practices?

00:05:14 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

I mean, the poles are from this side of the room to this side of the room. They're humongous. And normally he has just like a little, Kieran drives a little car. He drives like a little Volkswagen. So when they're strapped to his car, it's comical.

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 4:

He can actually strap them to a smaller car.

00:05:29 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you have to. We don't have a choice. They're longer than the vehicle. They're longer than the vehicle. Wow.

00:05:34 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

Do they bring those home with them? They don't leave them at school at all? They don't have to, yeah. Wow.

00:05:38 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

Because when he's going to and from meets, there's no way of getting them there besides him bringing them. The school won't bring them.

00:05:43 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 4:

That is, to me, that is the wildest thing. You have to ask Wes this. I know Wes is a state champion coach. Ask him if there's ever been a fat pole vaulter. I've never seen a fat pole vaulter before.

00:05:56 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

No, I haven't either. I would like to know. I haven't had enough of these things lately, but I've never seen a larger person pole vaulting.

00:06:03 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 4:

What is the guy's name that plays for the New Orleans Pelicans? Zion Williamson. Could you imagine Zion as a pole vaulter? He's too strong, man. He's such a big dude. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. Hey, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:06:23 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Hi, what's up?

00:06:24 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 4:

How you doing? How do you get in and out of your car?

00:06:27 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 3:

How do I get in? on my car so i have a 99 yukon and so i have a car audio system in it and i have to go through my back barn doors and crawl all the way through to the front of the truck you're kidding me like

00:06:41 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

through that you're are you talking about the the the actual the rear head so you got to climb up what three rows or two rows of seats yep three rows oh my are you are you married or do you date What's the relationship status look like? How are these women or men getting in and out?

00:06:58 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

I have two different cars, but that one I usually use for work. And so I have door poppers on it, and my door poppers don't work. So the door handles don't work at all on them. Wow.

00:07:09 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

That's, by the way, that is pretty intense. And Kev's right on that. You cannot date with a car like that. There is no way that any girl is going to want to get into that car. It's not going to be worth it.

00:07:21 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. My girl hates getting into it.

00:07:24 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Unreal.

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 3:

She's got to get in through the bag, baby. Yeah.

00:07:30 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. After you say that, I've got to play.

00:07:32 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

If you know what I'm saying.

00:07:35 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Have a great morning, buddy. We'll see you.

00:07:38 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

You too.

00:07:38 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate you. We used to call this Dukes of Hazzard. Did you ever watch the old TV show, Dukes of Hazzard? They had an orange Chevy, right? No, it was an orange Chevy. It was an orange Charger, a Dodge Charger. Okay, yeah, that's what I wanted to say. Oh, that was like the car I wanted. the general lee but the way that they got into it was they actually used to have to climb bow and luke used to have to climb in through the windows and i remember when i was a kid that was like the you know the thing you always wanted to like pretend like you were bow and luke you should have seen my 250 plus pound ass

00:08:09 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 2:

00:08:25 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

And I think that the interesting thing is going to be the amount of times that you suspected that your spouse is cheating with somebody at work based on how awkward they are around you. Like the person from their work is around you. And this morning's War of the Roses, you have got to listen is right after Shannon's

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Shannon's got a look at what's trending this morning. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:11:19 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, after Sean, Diddy Combs' former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, delivered more than 25 hours of testimony detailing years upon years of abuse during their decade-long relationship. Additional testimonies from former Danity Cain member Don Rashard and Cassie's former friend Carrie Morgan corroborated Cassie's claims.

00:11:42 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 3:

This morning, testimony in the Sean Diddy Combs trial is expected to remain focused on the music mogul's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Prosecutors are expected to call her mother to the stand. Along with an escort, Ventura says she knew as the punisher. I'm actually looking forward to

00:11:59 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 4:

hearing his testimony to state exactly what was these freak-offs and how he earned the name the punisher. Cassie's mother is just going to corroborate some of the injuries that she had

00:12:09 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 3:

seen on Cassie. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, accused of forcing women to take part in sexual encounters he called freak-offs. Yesterday, singer Don Rashard told jurors she saw Combs assault Ventura.

00:12:25 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

It's a 2009 festival in Central Park. She said beforehand they were getting ready, and she witnessed Sean Combs punch Cassie Ventura in the face with a closed fist.

00:12:37 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 3:

On cross-examination, Combs' lawyers pointed out that Rashard's account appeared to change several times. Jurors were shown these pictures of Ventura's injuries, allegedly at the hand of Combs. Also on the stand, Ventura's former friend, Carrie Morgan, providing insight into this moment, caught on a hotel security camera, showing Combs knocking Ventura down and kicking her. Morgan testified she later went to Ventura's apartment, where Combs was banging on the door with a hammer. ABC News contributor Bernarda Villalona called that a crucial moment in the trial.

00:13:11 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 4:

It didn't end at the Intercontinental Hotel, that instead Sean Combs had went to the apartment and with the hammer was slamming onto the door trying to get in and trying to get Cassie.

00:13:22 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 3:

Combs' former assistant also took the stand, saying when he interviewed for the job, an employee told him, this is Mr. Combs' kingdom, we're all here to serve in it.

00:13:31 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 2:

One of, well, former Dana DK member Dawn Rashard, part of her testimony also brought Usher and Neo's names into the mix, among others. But she testified that they were witnesses to a 2010 incident of Diddy punching Cassie in the stomach.

00:13:52 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:13:52 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 2:

So if you heard their names floating around, that was the reason the trial is expected to continue for several more weeks, at least six weeks from what I'm hearing. The Punisher.

00:14:01 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 1:

That was the guy's name. The Punisher. Do you think he got it when he started wearing that mohawk? I don't know. Listen, I want to know, will the defense, or the prosecution, excuse me, because the defense obviously doesn't want to tell everybody about the Punisher thing, of why he was named that, but I wonder if the defense will be getting more details of why they call him that and what he actually did for Diddy. Speaking of what you call people, I didn't know it was Don Rashard. I didn't know that.

00:14:30 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 2:

For all these years, I thought it was Don Richard. Same. I know. Barstool founder and CEO Dave Portnoy is confirming that story that you've probably heard before. I know we've talked about it. That his ex-wife Renee still has access to his bank account and all the money in it. This is from an interview he just did with Shannon Sharp during an episode of Club Shay Shay.

00:14:49 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 4:

Is it true your ex-wife have access to your bank account? Yeah.

00:14:52 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I told you. I trust her implicitly. I beg your pardon. Implicitly. I trust her. If she wanted to take it, she could. there's very few people that

00:15:00 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 2:

you meet where you can trust implicitly and to be honest she was there when we were living at the in-laws house she was there when we couldn't afford a hamburger she was there through the grind she to me just like we we kind of separated when we started making it so she doesn't get to

00:15:14 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 3:

enjoy any of that right to me that's not right wow yeah by the way whatever happened to uh shannon

00:15:22 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 4:

sharp i was thinking about i was thinking about that when i was listening to this episode i'm

00:15:26 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

I feel like ESPN put him on a timeout. I don't know if he's been on first take like that. I don't think so. I have not seen him back yet. Pride of Lawyers are figuring out. Still doing his podcast, though.

00:15:37 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And lastly, Chicago O'Hare International Airport just had a little security scare, but turns out somebody was just hungry. A DoorDash driver was en route to his destination when he accidentally drove onto the tarmac

00:15:53 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:15:54 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 1:

And wasn't even stopped.

00:15:56 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:15:57 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 1:

Responded to a car driving on an O'Hare tarmac over the weekend. Imagine this. CPD now says the vehicle belonged to a very confused food delivery driver. Wow. Who accidentally entered an area posted as off-limits to non-airport personnel. Where was he trying to get?

00:16:14 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 4:

You guys, this driver went for miles and miles in restricted areas. Nobody stopped him. Oh, that's crazy. No charges are being filed because it truly was an accident. I don't know if the food made it to its rightful owner, but isn't that crazy?

00:16:26 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 3:

O'Hare Airport, it's the big airport there, is kind of like our Detroit Metro Airport, where it would be tougher to get on their grounds and get confused by streets. Midway Airport, which is the Chicago airport that's in the city, literally, I went to high school right across from Midway Airport. You have a house right next to the runway, and it's weird. So I could see where you get confused and take a wrong turn. At Midway. At Midway, but not O'Hare. O'Hare's got fences and, you know, those, it looks like a prison, basically. That's dedication. That is amazing. If I had to select a door driver, I want that guy. I would up your tip on that guy.

00:17:05 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 4:

no reputation reputation and by the way the last episode ever of the handmaid's tale is out now i think right on hulu i'm gonna watch it today question number two this disgraced movie producer now says that he's been wrongfully convicted of rape and and sex crimes so i wasn't wrong i was i was trying to figure it's missing the word and and you still butchered it

00:21:24 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 3:

regardless, but it is missing.

00:21:25 - 00:21:29 | Speaker 1:

And other sex crimes. His case started with the Me Too movement. Who is he?

00:21:32 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 2:

Harvey Weinstein.

00:21:33 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 3:

Harvey Weinstein. One to nothing.

00:21:35 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday. Rihanna is currently pregnant with what number child for the couple?

00:21:47 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 2:

Number three.

00:21:48 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Two to one. Question number four. Lauren Sanchez's fiance was spotted groping her and smacking her booty in some photos. What's the billionaire businessman's name?

00:22:03 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 2:

Bill, Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos, he rolls along.

00:22:08 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 1:

And for a perfect, or actually a near perfect score, former President Joe Biden announced a prostate cancer diagnosis over the weekend. What number president was President Biden? A45? 46. 46. Nice.

00:22:23 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 3:

Final score, 43. Didn't even need the multiplier. Oh, man.

00:22:29 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 1:

He just rolls on. It's going to take a lot to beat Josh, Thomas. You're going to have to be almost perfect. Actually, if you would have been perfect, you would have beat him today. But we have a parting gift for you, Thomas. We're going to set you up with something nice, okay?

00:22:43 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 2:

Well done, Josh.

00:22:44 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Josh? Thank you.

00:22:45 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I couldn't do it without my son, Jackson, here. He's been so excited for me to be on here.

00:22:51 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Jackson? How are you doing? How old is Jackson?

00:22:56 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm six.

00:22:57 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 1:

Wow, six-year-old Jackson. Are you going to school today?

00:23:02 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:23:03 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 1:

I like it. Are you a secretive with your occupation and what you do, as your father is with us?

00:23:11 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:23:11 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I like it.

00:23:12 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 2:

What does your dad do for a living, Jackson? He's a woodworker.

00:23:19 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 1:

He's a woodworker. Nice cover. Otherwise known he's in the mafia. Yeah, exactly. Josh, we'll see you again tomorrow. Thomas, thanks so much for playing, buddy. Have a great one. It's Mojo in the Morning 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live. War of the Roses later this hour at 7.40 and a wife suspecting that her husband is cheating with one of his co-workers all because of the suspicious way that he acted around this co-worker when they recently were all together. You'll hear that coming up after Shannon's Dirty. Also after we give away tickets to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA. We'll have those for you this morning at 7.30. It is mojo in the morning. So what is the dating rules for this, like as far as the age is concerned?

00:24:22 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 2:

I would love to know. I have no idea. But I got in a conversation as I'm out here dating. And it kind of spawned, I would say, after the More Mojo podcast where we had that lovely woman named Shannon who came up to the stage and told everybody her age, which I think took us all by surprise. Yeah. What is she said? She was 50. Did she say 55? 55 or something like that? 56. I think she was 56. And none of us would have guessed 56 if our life depended on it. She looked phenomenal. Phenomenal. Had a great energy, great presence about her. Looked phenomenal, like you said. Yeah. In my mind, I'm like, damn, is that how 56 looks? Because I. could see myself with a 56 year old if this is how they're looking these days yeah and the conversation that i had after that was you can't as a 35 year old man date a 56 year old and i'm like why and i was told that the rule is either 10 up or 10 down 10 up or 10 down 10 up you mean age wise age wise okay i can't go younger than 25 and i can't go older than 45 all right is this a new rule is this an acceptable rule have you you guys ever heard of it actually the the younger

00:25:31 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 3:

one seems interesting to me because because i get the the younger one seems like okay i get that one

00:25:36 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 1:

oh see i disagree i really opposite you think so i would say me personally i would not go 10 years younger that that's way too much of an age gap for me when it comes to like dating a guy that would be you know 30 essentially but I would date older 10 years okay but what about a guy you think

00:25:57 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 3:

a guy can get away with that more dating younger then because you said no younger um yeah I just

00:26:03 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 1:

for me dating younger I think there's a even still at this age like a difference in maturity a difference in things that you've experienced in your life and likes and dislikes and those sorts of things although like i look at my dad and my stepmom and i want to i think my stepmom

00:26:19 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 3:

is 11 years younger than my dad and they're two peas in a pod it's interesting because can you picture kevin with a with somebody that was bianca's age or would that be way too young i think that's way too young yeah what about could you picture kevin though with that mom uh or that woman that was i don't know if she's a mom but the woman that was at our our podcast but that's

00:26:40 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 1:

For over 10 years. I could imagine somebody who's in their early 40s with Kev.

00:26:45 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, though, I could see you with her. Because first off, let me say this to you. You did perk up when she came up because you looked at her and you thought to yourself, oh, this is kind of an attractive woman. Plus, you saw how excited she was and wanting to date. And I think that part of it is kind of like her eagerness to get out and have fun. You're like, you know what? Maybe I need to give this woman something fun.

00:27:06 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 2:

I kind of got that in there. I like her energy, too. Her energy was great. She was very bubbly. Her sexual energy, too. It was just her positive nature how she approached life.

00:27:15 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 1:

I dated somebody who was more than 10 years older than me, though, and it is interesting when he would start to make references or, like, play music, and he'd be like, remember this, remember this, and I would go, no.

00:27:26 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 2:

That's like working with Mojo. Oh, wait, hold on. That's the conversation, though. What are the pros and cons of dating somebody 10 years older or younger?

00:27:33 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 3:

I could date people that are 19 because all Luke's friends know all my music. They love it. What's going on? How are you doing, Shay?

00:27:41 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you? I'm good.

00:27:43 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Good. What do you think the dating rules are as far as age is concerned?

00:27:46 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 4:

So I'm 57. The first guy I dated after my 30-year marriage, after my divorce, was 17 years younger. Now, that wasn't, it just happened. I knew him in circles. But I try, like right now, like 45 is my sweet spot. I don't even date, really. But people think that I'm like in my 30s. That's the thing. A lot of guys, I get asked out all the time by guys that are, like, 35, 33. And I'm like, I have kids older than you.

00:28:14 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Let me ask you, though. Would you sneak around and at least do, like, one for the team? Like, would you, you know, maybe?

00:28:22 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 4:

I mean, the first guy I dated was 17 years younger. My daughter called me, and she was like, Mom, your boyfriend is a year older than me, and he's freaking hot.

00:28:29 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 2:

I said, I know. Wow. Watch out. Look at what he's doing. I love it.

00:28:34 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 3:

See what it brought to your life? I love that thing. That's a funny, that fun thing. You and your daughter can share clothes and men. What's going on, Michelle? How you doing?

00:28:45 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing good. How are you?

00:28:46 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 3:

Good. Michelle, what's your dating rule?

00:28:49 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, I always had a rule that I wouldn't date you unless you were older than my son.

00:28:54 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

And how old is older than your son?

00:28:57 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, now he's 42 and all of his friends would always sit on me and I would go out and I've

00:29:05 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 3:

always been hit on by younger men. You sound so young. I can't believe that you have a son that

00:29:09 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 5:

is 42. How old are you? I am 58. I will be 59 this year. Can I be honest with you? If you sound

00:29:16 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 3:

and look as good as you sound, you should be dating 30 year olds for God's sakes. Listen to

00:29:22 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 5:

you. Well, that's all I get hit on by is 30 something year olds. And you know, I just don't

00:29:27 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 3:

have time to train a puppy. That might be the greatest line of them all. We should call this train a puppy uh that's funny you know why guys hit on you and this is the thing it's the energy factor and also i'm not gonna lie to you guys know and please don't be upset if you have a kid with you turn them away from the radio guys know they can get off a uh a 50 year old before they can

00:29:51 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 2:

get off a 20 year old i know it sounds weird the work is hard is that what you know no it's it's

00:29:56 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 3:

honestly it's the truth it's just that the women are more more feeling on it. themselves then you know think of think of yourself when you were in your 20s and stuff like that as it's totally the opposite for guys guys are young dumb and full of you know what where when we're yeah 20 something yeah you got to work a little harder are they willing to get as crazier though uh i don't know i don't because if it's just how crazy are you willing to get

00:30:20 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 5:

michelle at 58 years old well i mean i don't know if i could say that on air uh she's willing to go

00:30:28 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 3:

You're crazy, exactly.

00:30:29 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

Michelle, Michelle, a rare breed.

00:30:31 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 3:

She's a unicorn.

00:30:32 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 5:

I am a Scorpio, so that, you know, that might say a lot to some of you.

00:30:37 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no. Hey, you date who you want to date, for God's sakes. I mean, when you're looking for love, love comes in all different shapes and sizes. What's going on, Samantha?

00:30:50 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

In ages.

00:30:51 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 7:

Me and my boyfriend are 11 years apart. Okay.

00:30:55 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 3:

Younger or older? He's older. He's older than me. What are the ages?

00:30:59 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 7:

35 and 46.

00:31:01 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 3:

Now, how did you guys meet? Sounds fine. Yeah.

00:31:05 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 7:

We met Anna dating it two years ago.

00:31:08 - 00:31:12 | Speaker 3:

So your range had to be that way. So you kept your range open like that, huh?

00:31:13 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I've always dated older. I've never gone younger. I can't. No way.

00:31:17 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 3:

Is it because you want guys more established, or is it because guys are just idiots and they have no maturity?

00:31:26 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 7:

I mix with both.

00:31:27 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah, I guess that's probably the two reasons why you'd want to. You say the same thing, huh, Shan?

00:31:33 - 00:31:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, you knew this when I, like, after I got divorced, you would try to, you know, say, oh, this guy had asked me about you, this guy had asked me about you. And I was like, I, way too young.

00:31:43 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:31:44 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't, I was just never interested in dating younger, ever.

00:31:48 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 3:

What's up, initial ask, your voice disguised?

00:31:50 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 4:

i yes i was i was calling in because my mother-in-law dated someone that was 18

00:31:59 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 3:

and my husband and i were 24 oh wow and and how old was your mother-in-law at the time she was

00:32:08 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 4:

dating an 18 year old so she was 16 years older than us and she was about 40 oh my gosh she was

00:32:14 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 3:

40 years old and she was dating an 18 year old like that might be a little too young the guy's It was only a year out of high school.

00:32:21 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 4:

It was absolutely a little too young. I had two kids, and when we went to go eat dinner, he brought a sketchbook.

00:32:30 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:32:31 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 4:

Why we had beverages.

00:32:33 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Okay. Yeah. How did they meet?

00:32:39 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I have no clue. Soccer practice.

00:32:43 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

Was she going through a midlife crisis? or he just...

00:32:49 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 5:

I think so. Absolutely.

00:32:51 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 2:

Because I can see that happening. You go through something in life and the first person that shows you real attention, you're like, let's go. How pissed

00:32:57 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 3:

would you be if they get married and you're the son of this woman and he's like, call me dad.

00:33:05 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 5:

Go to your room. No.

00:33:07 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That wouldn't fly. Yeah, that is definitely somebody that's going through some kind of a crisis. Shelly's dad is 36 years older than his wife. Oh, my God. What is this? What is the age range? Hi, Shelly. What what are the age ranges?

00:33:27 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 6:

So he is 34 and my dad is he's actually about to turn 71 next week.

00:33:34 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. 34. Your dad. That is like the coach Belichick ages.

00:33:41 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Now, she's from the Philippines.

00:33:44 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 5:

Of course she is. Yeah.

00:33:47 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 3:

When Russia shut everything down, they all went to the Philippines. Oh, my God. That's unreal.

00:33:55 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they've been married for almost six years now.

00:33:58 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow. What did the family think of this whole thing?

00:34:02 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 6:

At first, it was hard because I have a daughter that's 30 now, and his wife is only four years older than my daughter. So at first I was a little apprehensive But I'm like But as I got to know her And stuff like that She's amazing

00:34:19 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 3:

She's an old soul I love when they say that

00:34:23 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 6:

I've never seen him so happy And you know that's all that matters Once you get older like that You just want to be happy She loves him a long time

00:34:32 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe how many people That are like my age It drives me crazy the people that are my age when i see a lot of the guys that are my age and i'm and i'm uh you know in my 50s so i'm 54 years old guys are getting families are getting divorced that are my age they're getting divorced and the guys instantly go for 30 year olds or younger it's the show

00:34:56 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

the four seasons on netflix which you need to watch

00:35:00 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 4:

you have now and the wives are the wives who are friends of chelsea and i are dating 70 year olds and i'm looking going you really want to look at shriveled balls your whole life and then do these girls want to be looking at guys who potentially got i'm not saying i got shriveled balls but they're getting to that point but you want you know i iron mine a little steamer yeah that's why they really go to the gym i gotta steam those suckers off but i'm trying to think to myself i'm like going what are these like i i chelsea jokes all the time and says i would date a 20 year old if we were divorced i really wouldn't i would go old or same age why is it

00:35:36 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 3:

a stability thing for the women that look for these older gentlemen for for them i think for

00:35:41 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 4:

the the women the they they're looking because it's money i think it's a it's a money thing

00:35:45 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 3:

and when i say stability i'm not talking about finance i'm talking about a guy that you know

00:35:48 - 00:36:06 | Speaker 4:

is going to be for you i think honestly the the women who are my age that are getting divorced are dating older because guys that are their age or younger, they have to be either much younger or older because the guys are all looking younger. I don't know why that is. I think the guys are being kind of pigs about it.

00:36:06 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel like we always say you think with your lower brain than the one that's in your head. I think that's why guys are going younger because they find that physical attraction. But I think the women realize that these guys aren't really trying to move forward or find something long-lasting. but the older gentlemen who are at the tail end of their life, you know he's going to love you and be there and share those moments.

00:36:28 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 4:

I would hate that I would have to try to keep up with somebody that would, you know, in this guy's case, he's 70-something years old. He's got to keep up with the 30-year-old. I'm thinking to myself, that poor bastard, he's going to die by the time he's 80.

00:36:40 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 3:

That's why they made Viagra.

00:36:42 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 4:

Man, I don't know. I don't know if I wanted that much.

00:36:45 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 3:

Crush up some of that in your smoothie in the morning.

00:36:48 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 4:

Put that in your acai bowl that she brings in that you call an acai bowl because you can't pronounce it?

00:36:55 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 1:

Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. Am I the a-hole? Or the throwback throwdown?

00:37:05 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I got completely scammed. And I want to throw this out there. Watch out for this to happen to you. But also, I want to know from you, what was the scam that you fell for that you cannot believe that you fell for? So, Chelsea picked me up in my Tahoe and we needed gas in the car so we get to the gas station and I get out of the car said hey let me just at least fill it up so I at least feel like I'm doing something so I get out of the car to put gas in and as I get out to pull it in this guy with this really super cute kid walks up to me as I'm putting gas in and the guy goes can I can I ask you a question and said yeah and he goes can you give me money for gas I don't have any money and I'm looking at this kid and the kids got this look on his face and I'm going, Oh my God. So I reach in my pocket and I've got some money and I pull out a 20 and I give him a 20. I hand it in the kid's eyes lit up and kid eyes, kids eyes go a 20, like literally lit up and gave him the money. And I said, Hey man, here you go. You know, uh, he's like, Oh, thank you so much. Thank you so much. How can I pay you? And I go, don't worry about it. Everything's going to be okay. It was one of those moments where you have like this feeling that yourself, like, okay, I feel like I did good. This kid's,

00:38:20 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 2:

You felt a nudge to give the money.

00:38:23 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 4:

Guy runs over or goes over to his car, and I get into the car because my pump is done at that time. Put the pump in, and I sit there, and I say to Chelsea, I go, yeah, I felt really good, and told Chelsea about what was going on. And she goes, well, he obviously needed that gas so much. Look, he's pulling off. He didn't even put the gas pump in his car. I gave the guy the money. He got into his van, and he got in with his kid and left. He didn't even put the gas money in. So he didn't obviously need the gas. He just wanted the money. I got scammed. Yeah, you did. Maybe he was going to a cheaper gas station.

00:38:57 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 2:

Or maybe he was going to get food. I don't know. I always try to think the best of those situations.

00:39:02 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

All I kept thinking the entire time was, we will, we will scam you. You know what?

00:39:08 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 2:

I know it because I think all of us have been approached in that situation at a gas station, and I always say no. But the kid? That's it. The kid would have made me say yes. And I would have done the same thing and given money. That's why he was there. That tugs at your heartstrings.

00:39:23 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

And you look at the kid and the kid was just sitting there. And I'm thinking to myself, I could not imagine being there with my kids, one of my kids at that age, a little kid's like five, probably eight years old or seven years old and sitting there going, I need to actually build up the courage to go and ask this guy for money. And the funny thing is, I never, ever give the guys with the selling the candy bars money. like i never give them money because i'm automatically assuming the kids that are selling the candy bars out in the streets or in front of like the games and stuff like when i walk into a tigers game or something i'm thinking those kids are selling costco

00:40:00 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 5:

size money out in front there and they're putting the money in their pocket and they're scamming

00:40:03 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 4:

you for something i'm not mad that's entrepreneurship yeah right there where they're at least selling you something yeah right go get the costco package come sell it that's hustling right there yeah i don't lie and say you're doing a vo basketball team yeah just be

00:40:18 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 5:

honest which is what they do um how did you get scammed 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to know what scam you fell for, am I going to be the person that's going to get the phone call that somebody in my life, like, I don't know, maybe Shannon is locked up in India somewhere or whatever, you know? Do you ever hear those things at all? Your friend is in an Indian prison or an Indian prison in India. You ever hear that at all? I'd be like, good, I hope he's cozy. Why are you trans for money? Bitcoin. What's up, Amber? How you doing? Or Aubrey, excuse me, what's going on?

00:40:55 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi, so, first time long time but yeah I went on Zillow about a year or two ago and I was gonna go move to Texas and I live in Ohio so I was gonna move to Texas and I ended up like sending this guy money for a rental property we went down to go we scheduled an appointment went down to go look at it and everything went drove down to texas for the weekend and ended up finding out that it was a huge scam ended up getting a scam out of eight hundred dollars oh man who was the guy property so yeah who was the guy and how did you know the guy i don't remember his name it was just some guy on zillow that said that he gets the application online and stuff like that oh so it was yeah it It was a crappy situation.

00:41:50 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man, I didn't know about scams like that. That's kind of a crazy one. You think you're getting yourself a rental property. Hold on. Oh, where did Chad? Did I lose Chad? I think I lost Chad. Here, hold on. See who that is on that line. I was going to pick up Chad, and I think I disconnected with him. What's going on, Mike? How are you doing?

00:42:07 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. Good morning.

00:42:08 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's up?

00:42:10 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 2:

I've been scammed over in London. I was out there for two months, and I needed a new phone. and I was very desperate and so I got I forget the app called but um I ended up losing $850 because I Western Union money to some stranger expecting him to ship me a phone oh yeah do you

00:42:32 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

know what the other thing is in London did you experience this in London they're they'll run right up to you when you're on your phone and steal your phone right out of your hand I've seen tiktok's a lot it's pretty crazy pretty good we we were uh we did a trip to london we did a family trip to london and we were told by every single cab driver person in the hotel that you can't just sit there and talk on your phone in public that they'll come and just scam it or swipe it right

00:42:58 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 6:

out of your hand that happened to my sister in chicago really yeah that was a big deal

00:43:01 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 3:

right out of her hand what's up christian hi hey how's it going you guys good morning good what's going on hey so when i was young i'll say like early early 20s like i think i was 20 uh this guy said that he can put some money in my account you know me needing money i was like sure but i had to send him my credit card well my debit card and i did and it made me go negative 20 000 in my account

00:43:24 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 5:

oh my god oh gosh negative twenty thousand dollars that's kidnap yeah so at first it showed up

00:43:33 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 3:

positive that i had the money so i was excited and then somehow he took it all back how would

00:43:38 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 5:

the bank even allow twenty thousand dollars in the hole like i i would think they would stop at

00:43:43 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 3:

whatever you had in your account yeah i called the bank and told them about it and they were going to investigate but i guess somehow he was able to grab that money and i have no idea wow

00:43:57 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 5:

But texter here, I'm sorry I'm so taken by this texter, 616 that says, Mojo, you need to play that drop. You are so dumb, dumb, for real, dumb. You know what? I was.

00:44:08 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 6:

It was the kid, though. I know, it got me. You are so dumb. It got me. You are really dumb, for real.

00:44:13 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 5:

I know. I got so taken by that little kid with the eyes. All I kept sitting there looking at the entire time was that kid going to myself, going, oh, my God, this poor kid, you know, and this dad.

00:44:25 - 00:44:29 | Speaker 4:

What if that kid was like, Marlon Wayans, a little man. He was really like 45 years old.

00:44:30 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 5:

You just didn't realize it. It wouldn't surprise me. It was like a great acting job that that kid did.

00:44:35 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 6:

You know how I've been getting scammed lately? And my sister, the same thing just happened to my sister, is online. Where I'll find something that I want to buy. Like in this case, it was this pair of supposedly limited edition Adidas shoes that I saw this girl wearing on Instagram. I did the Google image search. I found a website that had them. And I'm like, sweet, they're in stock in my size. I got them and opened them up. And my sister's like, are you an idiot? Those are 10 million percent.

00:45:00 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 2:

fake and i was so mad because they still they weren't cheap yeah you know what i mean so i was still out like 115 bucks or whatever and they were you took out the soul as soon as i got them i took them out of the box and i'm like i got i totally got wasn't it you that also bought the little barbie no it was the barbie dream house yeah and it turned out the barbie dream house

00:45:20 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 5:

that i never got yeah what's up david how you doing hey what's up guys what's going on how'd

00:45:26 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 6:

you get scammed actually i started the scam and then they scammed me back really what happened so i was a young guy went to vegas to live for a while and somebody offered me a job selling this rendition call i said it sounds like a scam but i got bills to pay so sure and they're just walking around selling to people and uh some guys man all right i'll take some and i get i sold a whole bunch to him i was like oh man i'm banking he gave me fake money wow no yeah oh my god did

00:45:54 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 5:

you at least have the cologne though was a good cologne oh it's actually smelled fine actually it's not the real i'm dumping it oh it worked it worked that time the dump button works how do you know you're good to go kev i can see it blinking now oh really yeah what's up josh i'm good to go hey how's it going good what's going on how'd you get scammed

00:46:14 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 7:

so i had somebody call me from the local police department number they duped the number and had me believe that I had missed my jury duty and that I had to come to the police station to pay my fine, and I lost $3,000.

00:46:30 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Oh, Lord. You know what's funny? I get those text messages all the time about having to either get to court or I'm going to get in trouble and then pay the tolls, and Michigan doesn't have tolls. So I get both those ones, but you fell for actually the notification of a jury duty one. So don't ever do the jury duty.

00:46:53 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 7:

They called my phone directly from the police department number. Because I even showed the police when I got to the station.

00:46:59 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 5:

And they said that was the actual number, huh?

00:47:02 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 7:

Yep. The non-emergency number.

00:47:05 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 5:

Unreal. Man. Sophia got scammed by the fake IRS. What did you get scammed? How much money?

00:47:13 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 1:

$3,000.

00:47:15 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 5:

Jeez, Sophia.

00:47:17 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 1:

It was horrible.

00:47:19 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 2:

How did you give them the money? Was it like a wire transfer situation like that previous caller?

00:47:25 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it was so stupid. And I was 18, so I didn't know really better. But they tried to put me in jail, and I was crying. And, yeah, it was bad.

00:47:34 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 5:

You know what's amazing? You know the only person that falls for an IRS scam for $3,000 is somebody who is scamming the IRS. You know what else is amazing? Yeah. In fact, she had $3,000 at 18 years old. That is pretty amazing. I know. What's going on, Chad?

00:47:52 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. How you doing?

00:47:53 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing okay, Chad. What's up?

00:47:56 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so if you're going to give money for fuel, I have no problem with this, but I always put it right in the pump for the... I know, Chad.

00:48:03 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's smart. Chad, I know. Ain't nobody got time for that. No. Listen. You know?

00:48:07 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

You know why'd you do wrong then?

00:48:08 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 5:

Because I got scammed. I now know. Burn me once. You'll not burn me twice. I will not allow it to happen. I'm not about to stand there and pull it out. I know.

00:48:20 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 2:

He's saying go in and give the gas station attended 20 bucks and say 20 bucks on six.

00:48:25 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 5:

You know who you sound like, Chad? You sound like Chelsea. That's exactly the entire car ride home. You know what you should have done. You know what you should have done. Yeah, I know what I should have done. I shouldn't have driven in the car with you right now after I just got scammed so I didn't have to hear what I should have done. Alright, take care of yourself, buddy. We'll see ya. Don't miss this. All right, we're coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses. This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:50:40 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 1:

My name is Natarika Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently, even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm their resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us.

Taylor Swift surprised her fans by debuting her re-recorded version of Look What You Made Me Do, Taylor's version in the latest episode of The Handmaid's Tale.

00:52:46 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't like

00:52:48 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 3:

your perfect... June is leading a rebellion of The Handmaid's. I'm so excited. I have not started this season. I'm going to binge it over a weekend, so I cannot wait.

00:53:02 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 7:

Sounds like the regular version.

00:53:03 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 3:

No, it's actually...

00:53:05 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 7:

It's different. June, look what you made June do. Look what you made June do. Is the purpose of re-recording so she owns it?

00:53:16 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 3:

Yes. She needs to regain control of her masters. And this is big because it marks the first official release from Taylor's very anticipated reputation. Taylor's version one of two remaining albums that she wants to re-record. I don't think anybody really expected this.

00:53:35 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 8:

Go back to The Handmaid's Tale.

00:53:37 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 3:

Don't tell me anything.

00:53:38 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 8:

No, I know. But watch this season. It's the best. I thought that they lost me a little bit when they went to Alaska or wherever the hell they went to and they all stayed in the same house. Canada or wherever it was. I hated it. And then this season, it got back to being good again. It got back to being dark and evil and all the rest of that stuff.

00:53:58 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 3:

That's great. Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein is once again publicly addressing all of the allegations against him, claiming that his interactions with actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow and Rose McGowan were actually consensual. This is a teaser from an interview he did with Candace

00:54:14 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 6:

Owens. I did not commit these crimes. I swear that before God and the people watching now and on my family. The people who support me are scared to talk. They are frightened to death that

00:54:27 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 2:

they're going to be canceled. What I always found to be problematic about the Me Too movement from the beginning. We're conflating. He made a pass at me and I didn't like it with rape. I've asked

00:54:37 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 6:

to have lie detector tests brought into the prison. I know they're not admissible, but I want the world

00:54:43 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

to know. To be honest with you, I think a lot of people are going to hear this conversation.

00:54:47 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 6:

Candace, you know, one thing I can tell you is this is going to explode. Rose McGowan was very,

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

very vocal during you know

00:55:00 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 1:

all of the Weinstein stuff as it came up during the Me Too movement, heard that clip and made a public statement saying, we know the truth. We are not victims. We are people who were injured by evil. And she is continuing to encourage others to stand up against abuses of power like Harvey Weinstein. And lastly, I teased this a couple of minutes ago. Did you hear the story about the Grand Valley student who was killed in an accidental, although now they're calling it intentional shooting when multiple gunshots were fired through the floor during a house party a couple of weeks ago. 19-year-old engineering student Connor Lauterman was struck in the head by a bullet that was recklessly fired by an unidentified 20-year-old suspect during a house party that happened on May 9th. Now, the shooting was quite intentional. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, they said multiple rounds were fired through the floor. So it wasn't like it was a one-shot, oops, I accidentally discharged the gun. This person fired numerous rounds. So their stance is that while the result was an accidental death, the shooting was very much intentional. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department revealed that the 20-year-old male suspect obtained a firearm that was located in the home where the party was happening. He then fired the multiple rounds through the floor of an upstairs bedroom. The bullets penetrated the floor. One struck Conor Latterman in the head. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor here. All individuals in this incident knew one another.

00:56:40 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's crazy. That's a sad story.

00:56:42 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 1:

Very sad. Yeah. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on anything you missed. Check out the podcast search Mojo in the Morning in the free

00:57:11 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 4:

So, Stacey, you think that your husband is cheating. Hi. How you doing?

00:57:18 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Not really, though.

00:57:20 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Stacey, you think that your husband is cheating with a co-worker?

00:57:24 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:57:25 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 4:

All right, explain this story, because this story is definitely a little shady. What's up?

00:57:33 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 2:

My husband and I went to a work party about a month ago, and he worked. It was a big event, and it was just very awkward because there was a woman there that I felt like he was purposely avoiding, and I caught on to it pretty quickly. so we sat down at our table and she joined us and then he made us get up and move like almost immediately and i kind of asked him about it and he said that he didn't want to talk to her and told me that he hated her so the whole night she kept looking at me and i don't know i felt like there was some um so i got her name and i looked her up on facebook later and my husband had liked all of her photos like even one from years in the past and like a recent photos too so i'm just yes so i'm like why would he be liking these photos if he hates her also why are you friends

00:58:28 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 4:

on facebook with your co-worker well the friends with a co-worker thing doesn't doesn't shock me but the fact that he was so against you guys being there next to her or hanging out and then the fact that she was making it very apparent that she wanted to be close to you. Seems weird.

00:58:51 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I thought I have been happily married for nine years. There's never a thought in my mind that that would happen. And I just feel like he is. I just have a gut feeling about it.

00:59:04 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 4:

Alright, so your thought is that there's something more to it and he's just trying to stay as far away from her as possible while you're there we're gonna do the war of the roses we're gonna call him up to see where he's gonna send a dozen free roses is he at work right now yes all right i want you to mute your phone okay mute mute your phone so i don't hear even background sound can you do can you do that hit mute all right we're gonna call up her husband and we're gonna to see where he's going to send the roses to. His name's Gavin. We want the flowers to go to Stacy.

00:59:58 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 1:

Hi, is this Gavin?

01:00:03 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is...

01:02:11 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh. Yep. okay and what is angela's relationship to you um you you need that for the roses so essentially i'm creating a profile for you this is part of it and i have to check off a box with with that okay so when you hopefully you'll order flowers from us in the future and this will be a very quick even quicker process right no no yeah yeah that makes

01:02:40 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 3:

sense um she's just like just you know a close friend we've been seeing each other for a bit

01:02:45 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 1:

okay and we do something unique at rosesbloom.com gavin instead of sending a paper card with the roses in this case angela's going to get a text alerting her that she has a delivery and then this voice memo will come along with that text she'll be able to hit play and know they're from you so i'm going to count you down and then you could just record just a little something that she can play when she gets the flowers. Does that make sense? Okay. When are you going to do it? I'm going to count you down right now. And then you just start talking. Here we go. Three, two, one.

01:03:21 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Angela, these are from Gavin.

01:03:26 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Are you good with that?

01:03:30 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think so.

01:03:32 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

01:03:39 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 2:

Sure. That's fine. Okay. And Gavin, I'm going to jump on just to kind of wrap everything up so that we can send those flowers off. I just need to let you know one last thing, okay?

01:03:51 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:03:53 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 2:

Gavin, I wanted to let you know that while you have been sending the flowers off, and we will send them to her, that your wife, Stacy, has been listening in to this call and just heard you send flowers to another woman.

01:04:09 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, don't send them. Don't send the flowers.

01:04:15 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're definitely going to send the flowers so that everybody kind of knows what's going on. Well, why would you send them? Gavin, your wife is listening in to this call and can hear you right now and just heard you send flowers to somebody that wasn't her. And Stacey, is this the person that you were worried about?

01:04:46 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Stacey, I can't believe you're doing this to me. I'm not doing anything. It's really not.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 1:

Not what you think.

01:05:03 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes, it is.

01:05:05 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 1:

What is it, Gavin? What is it that you're doing? She's just somebody I work with, and that's it.

01:05:18 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay, real cute.

01:05:21 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 5:

By the way, when I asked who she was, you said it's a friend that I've been seeing for the past couple of months. or a friend that I've been seeing.

01:05:35 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 2:

You're not going to back it. Like, you can't walk your... You can't get yourself out of this. Like, you just sound like an...

01:05:45 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well...

01:05:52 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Like, I hope that Angela is listening to this right now. Did she know you're married?

01:05:55 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Why do I feel like somebody's getting phone calls While we're talking Who's getting calls right now And texts

01:06:05 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm not

01:06:07 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 1:

So Gavin is Is that Who you sent the flowers to Texting you or are you texting with her While we're on the phone

01:06:17 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Why does that matter

01:06:20 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Well I think it does matter He's gone Hung up phone So Do we think he was texting her while

01:06:34 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 5:

I don't know but his phone was blowing up

01:06:36 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 1:

01:07:03 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 2:

01:07:10 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 1:

01:07:21 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:07:38 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. I would love to hear stories from those that have busted their significant other cheating with a co-worker and why is it that it seems like it's getting more and more popular that that's the thing that happens nowadays i thought that it would become less popular with the amount of people that work mobily and work at home yeah um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number uh and kind of to go back and listen to this one all over again and to hear his comments and shannon you got him on that one about the way that he kind of referred to this person that he was sending the flowers to yeah um tc what's up tc it's mojo in the morning war

01:08:31 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 3:

of the roses your thoughts hi tc good day good day my family my family oh my god i was the people in the cars were looking at me crazy because i was screaming in here he was like don't send them Like, what? Your wife is on the phone. Apologize, my guy. Apologize.

01:08:52 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, he doesn't want him sent. Because he doesn't want to screw up his relationship with, what was her name? Amber or whatever, the person that he sent her. Angela. Angela.

01:09:00 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Angela. And tell Stacey I got a good lawyer because I'm post one year divorce, okay? Okay. She can get through it. She can get through it.

01:09:08 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:09:08 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Forget him. Like that.

01:09:10 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, TC. What's up, Adam? Hi. hey good morning mojo yeah no i agree with the the last caller tc well don't send the flowers exactly just kind of like you can take it back bro that's what i was saying it's too late no i actually kind of give him a little credit on that no it's like all right in that case in that case here i don't want it anymore i don't want your your your free flowers Just can't renege the flowers. What's up? How you doing there, Morgan?

01:09:43 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

01:09:44 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 1:

We're doing okay. What are your thoughts? It's Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses.

01:09:48 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 4:

I am absolutely livid. I cannot believe this guy had the gall to blame her and say, I can't believe you're doing this to me.

01:09:59 - 01:09:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 3:

That was not a good thing to say.

01:10:02 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Like, you deserve to be caught. What do you mean?

01:10:06 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 3:

We've had people do something similar to that where they'll, like, put it on the person that, like, the spouse that's calling and be like, you're embarrassing me or you're trying to make me look bad.

01:10:18 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 5:

All the time they try to turn it around. What you do to me, my reaction of what you do to me is your fault.

01:10:27 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's something that I wonder if that happens in the past.

01:10:30 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 5:

My reaction is based on what you do to me.

01:10:33 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Right, exactly. Here you go. I want to know. Sorry, I had to explain that to Kev. Thank you, Shannon. You're welcome. Break down. I want to know if there is anybody that's ever had this happen to them where they were with the person or went out in public with the person that their spouse was cheating with or the boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, and they witnessed them acting weird around them. Like, that was a wild thing that Stacey was telling when she said, yeah, so we were there and he wouldn't let us be next to each other and then played it off like, I don't like this person.

01:11:09 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 5:

But then to find out that he liked every single one of her posts on social media.

01:11:16 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Which was a total red flag that got her to call us and do the War of the Roses. Initial B would like to be voice disguised. What's up, B?

01:11:24 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:11:25 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:11:28 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

So about two years ago, I caught my husband cheating with his co-worker. And the way I found it was his phone went off at 3 in the morning. I rolled over and saw it was a naked picture of his co-worker.

01:11:44 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lord, she's stupid.

01:11:47 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

What do you do in that moment? You wake him up and just show him?

01:11:52 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 1:

So I took the phone. I ran in the bathroom. And I then found the whole history of their relationship. And I went in and I threw the phone right at his head.

01:12:05 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Did he try to make any excuses or he knew it was too late?

01:12:11 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 1:

He initially was like, what's going on? I haven't done anything. So initial denial. And honestly, to this day, he denies that it was anything significant.

01:12:21 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 3:

Are you guys still together?

01:12:24 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 1:

We are. Oh, damn. why so we ended up separating for about two months lived separately we ended up going through some marriage counseling but i will tell you that the trust unfortunately is never 100 there yeah does he still work there no she ended up um in the text messages that i found i saw that she was suspended from work and he was really upset she wasn't at work one day and she ended of the gang fired.

01:12:58 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 4:

See, she wanted him to get caught. Anytime your side piece sent a naked text message at three in the morning, when you know I'm laying with my wife, you think I'm about to leave her for you. You trying to get me to break up.

01:13:09 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 3:

That was definitely her intention. Lee, what's up, Lee? It's Mojo in the morning. Yo. Yo.

01:13:18 - 01:13:18 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:13:18 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Lee? I want more than yo. What's going on?

01:13:22 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

All right, so. i i'm a retired retired retired cheater yes retired some people grow up men do grow up don't act like we don't everybody i i don't want to say it's another radio host that's not y'all not y'all and he's still married and he's terrible so i'm retired and i'm still i'm i'm good but listen

01:13:47 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Quick question for you. Do you get retirement benefits when you retire as a cheater? Yes, you do. Yes, you do. The AARP turns into the AA cheater P or something? I don't know.

01:14:00 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 5:

What are we supposed to listen to here?

01:14:01 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes. Okay, look. Here we go. So I was with my girlfriend. We was working at a plant that was kind of far away from my house. Okay. 12-hour shifts. You know what I'm saying? So when I came home, it was a lot of nagging. So I'm like, okay, I got me a boo-boo at work. And it was a work, boo. Don't act like they don't exist because they still do. Trust me, they do. And I don't mess around with them, nothing. But when I got caught, it was like an eight-hour shift. I went home. I was tired. Yeah, she went through my phone and beat me out my sleep, like 20-piece chicken McNugget, like bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, pow, like woke me up. So, yeah, it was a real drastic situation. I'm here to tell the story, thank God, you know. Now, did she, after she gave you the 20-piece McNugget.

01:14:51 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 3:

He was forced into retirement by that 20-piece McNugget.

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Did she make you leave the job, or what ended up happening with the side?

01:15:00 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 1:

piece or the word no no that was good money that was good money so she was she wasn't doing that is she 20 piece me i was you know a ham for like about three or four months and you know trying to get that truck back she dumped me it was just like she ran that money up for a minute

01:15:16 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 5:

and then yeah you know what a ham is no what is a ham whole ass man oh okay yeah i thought he would like beat like a ham like he got no that's no that's interesting i like that you explained that to me so all right so uh lee i uh i like that you say that you're retired you'll never do this ever again until the next hot piece of ass comes along at work no i work with a hot piece of ass right

01:15:42 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 1:

now and you're not i don't even look at don't even look at it i've seen it before i've seen it before

01:15:47 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 5:

after them nuggets he went vegetarian he was done with that um interesting conversation there with What's up Stacey How you doing

01:15:59 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi I'm doing good I was calling in because the same thing That happened to caller Stacey happened to me 10 years ago When my Ex-husband was 36 cheated on me With his 19 year old co-worker

01:16:16 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 5:

And did you ever Get around her Did you ever see her out and about

01:16:22 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah She actually babysat our kids and that kind of thing.

01:16:28 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 5:

Wow. So, wait, question. When she was around you, did he act funny around you?

01:16:36 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. There was, before he actually came clean and told me that there was something going on, there was definitely, like, a vibe or energy going on between them. Like, I found out later on that he was just confiding in her, a 19-year-old, about all of our marital problems and how I was a mean, awful wife, etc. That's gross.

01:16:58 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 5:

So when did it finally come out?

01:17:03 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 2:

So it went on, the infidelity went on for about a year before, like, we were officially, like, done and I hadn't already filed for divorce, but it came out eight months later.

01:17:17 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 5:

And are they with each other right now?

01:17:19 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 2:

uh yeah they're still together she uh they got married three years ago but she's 20 she's 29 with a 46 year old husband so that's cool oh well okay

01:17:34 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 5:

um and and how about you have you found love again uh yeah i've been with my current partner

01:17:42 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 2:

for six and a half years um and we're we're doing really well but i also went on to get my doctorate in psychology and my dissertation was actually on healing and thriving as a single mom because of infidelity because i was kind of tired of the women are just better and all that so like i actually that's my focus my clinical focus in my wow story let me ask you this though

01:18:09 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 4:

because if they're still together and you all have kids together do you ever come in contact with her when you make the switch with the kids? What is that like?

01:18:19 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

It goes back and forth. Sometimes we're actually pretty good and I communicate better with her than with my ex. And sometimes she's just like a petty bitch. That's fascinating. Yeah, so it kind of depends on different things like how things are going. Yeah.

01:18:38 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if they listen to War of the Roses on Mojo in the morning, if they'll hear you and go, Oh, Stacey called in.

01:18:47 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm going to see them later today at my son's soccer game. Tell him we said hi.

01:18:51 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 5:

01:20:00 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 1:

That's going to be coming up this hour. Plus, who would be jealous of Kevin? We'll get into that beforehand. And we'll start off the hour with Shannon wanting to make new parent friends. And she'll explain that in just a second. But first, let me plug this for you. If you are looking to get your bills paid, we've got a chance for you to win $1,000 13 times today right here on this radio station. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo, Shannon, Kev. We've got the whole gang here with us this morning. So, Shannon, Lucy is going to be going to a new school next year. And this is one of those things where not only is she going to be saying goodbye to a whole bunch of friends, but you're going to be saying goodbye to a whole bunch of friends because it's not the same school that's been Lucy's school forever that all the parent friends that you have are going to be at. You're sending her to a totally different school.

01:20:56 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so my, like, group of friends, my closest, best friends are all parents of kids that Lucy goes to school with at the moment.

01:21:06 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it funny how the progression of your friendship base starts with your grow-up friends, your school friends, then you got work friends, but you really hold on to a lot of your kids' parent friends, you know?

01:21:18 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 3:

And these are my ride or die girlfriends. Like, I know that we will be friends always, but it's just going to be really different starting, you know, in the fall because we are switching Lucy's school. She's going to a complete, like, out of district. So it's not like she's moving along in the progression with all of the other kids that she's been going to school with since preschool. So this is like the wild, wild west to us where we don't really know anybody hardly at this new school that she's going to be going to. So there was like a welcome event for all of the new families over the weekend. And I went into it really nervous for Lucy. And I was praying so hard that she would meet some girls that she would kind of vibe with. and, you know, be excited about going to school in the fall, knowing that, oh, there's some girls that could be my friends. And so that was my prayer for her going into the weekend. And sure enough, she came out of this event with like six new best friends. That's cool. And she's been FaceTiming them on her iPad since the weekend. And I'm so, so happy for her. She's so excited about it.

01:22:30 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 1:

And these are all kids that are also starting something new, too. Yes. Yeah.

01:22:33 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 3:

So they came into this knowing nobody. Okay. So she's set. I was worried about her. Well, there I am. And Wes was with me standing at this event. And I'm going, oh, my God. We have to make, I have to make new parent friends here, too, because I don't want to not know anybody. You guys, making adult friends is next level anxiety. And one would think because of what we do for a living that it would come very easy for me to just go up and talk to people and strike up a conversation. it brought me back to college when you're put in a situation where you're scanning like a room going okay she looks kind of cool i feel like i could be friends with her he looks kind of cool feel like like west would kind of gel with him and you're going okay do you do you want to go up to that couple over there and like start a conversation with them and what do we talk about and you don't want to ask people right off the bat like what do you do for a living because that's kind of you know shallow i don't know we were so nervous about this i always feel like the what do

01:23:37 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 1:

you do for a living is the cliche first thing that people always ask which we did not want to ask and

01:23:42 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 3:

we didn't we didn't the entire time but it was just so funny to be put in a situation where you're interviewing other parents going can i be your friend like could we be friends for the next

01:23:52 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 1:

couple of years so all the parents were also there in the open house you could see them there So it wasn't like they dropped off the kids and then they're sitting in the car.

01:23:59 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Right, so they had stuff for the kids to do, and then they had stuff for the parents to do. Okay. And the kids were all great. They're all talking and hanging, and I feel like every parent was in the same situation of going, oh, my God, we haven't had to do this since college.

01:24:13 - 01:24:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, since over their age. Yeah, nobody knows how to talk to each other.

01:24:16 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 3:

And then I was like, do I get, do I ask this mom for her phone number, or do I be a creeper? Like, there was two moms that I met that I really liked, And I felt weird asking for their phone number. So then I'm like, do I look them up on Instagram? Is that weird?

01:24:30 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 1:

Do you introduce yourself?

01:24:30 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 3:

To then follow them on Instagram?

01:24:32 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 1:

To as, hi, I'm Shannon, Lucy's mom? Yes. Or how do you do that?

01:24:36 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 3:

That's what my name tag said. Okay. So my name tag said Lucy, sixth grade. So you knew like, oh, your kid's going into sixth grade too. Your kid's going into fourth grade, you know, whatever.

01:24:46 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 2:

I mean, probably wouldn't have worked for this event in particular. But y'all just needed some alcohol.

01:24:51 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

There was no alcohol, only ice cream and veggie straws, which doesn't give you.

01:25:00 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

the same buzz we had the same thing happen uh to us and it's funny because the first parents that we met we walked into the room we transferred the kids from public school to catholic school and we walked into the room and the first parents we met were craig and kristen myers oh who you're still friends with who were still great friends with both of these guys yeah and um it was wild because i looked and i saw craig wearing white shoes like he was wearing like white dress shoes And I thought to myself, I could never be friends with a guy that wears white dress shoes and white pants. And I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, there's no way. I go, the wife's cool looking. But, you know, like the husband looks kind of, you know, you look at, you know, and I'm like sitting there making this whole thing to myself. And now I make fun of Craig for the way that he dressed, you know, and now actually I look at it. He's a great dresser. But it was funny, though, because those were the first people we met. And Chelsea and I had the same exact thoughts that you had where we're like, we're losing all of our friends.

01:25:55 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, which I know I'm not, but I do have to make friends in this situation so that when we go to school events, like I can hang out with somebody. And you want to know what really pissed me off? You know who came home with like, oh, my God, I'm going to hang out with this guy and this guy and this guy. Frickin' Wes. Did he really?

01:26:10 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. He made friends faster. Hold on. Katie doesn't call it making friends. What do you call it, Katie?

01:26:17 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. Parent dating. It is like really insane. It whoever invents the app for couples like parents to like date other parents because it's like a legit thing. It causes so much stress and anxiety. We just moved to a new county. So we moved from Genesee County to Oakland County. My husband is like we still like let's make friends. I'm like oh my gosh like it's not that easy. Like what if I don't like the mom and then it's like a whole thing and it's so much anxiety like new schools. I hear you. I still haven't met any moms yet.

01:26:53 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 1:

That is funny.

01:26:54 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 6:

It's wild.

01:26:56 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 1:

Parent Dating is such a great name.

01:26:58 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 2:

I feel like that's what it felt like. There's an app I'm Googling. It says the Peanut app. Designed just like a dating app, but for moms to connect, build friendships, and find support. Maybe that's... That could be it.

01:27:09 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 3:

Even getting dressed for this event, I was like, am I going to be too casual? What in the world?

01:27:16 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Lucy, what's up?

01:27:17 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 5:

like the last caller said it's like dating like my sons play sport and when we switch teams it's like you feel like you're going through a breakup it really is yeah you bond with these people you see them three times a week at practice you travel out of town you're in hotels you go to birthday parties and then like you switch teams and then you have to like start all over again yeah it's so tough it's like we'll stay in touch we'll stay in touch but can i tell you something i took it harder lucy my son was just kind of like okay whatever lucy chelsea and i used to like say

01:27:53 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 1:

to each other maybe we shouldn't have luke luke go play for a different team because this that exact reason not because of him but we thought that we would miss out on all the fun friends

01:28:03 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 5:

that we would that we were buddies but it also like the lines get blurred when you want to put your kid on a good team yes but you want to make friends and you and then it gets kind of like

01:28:12 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 1:

messy yeah it's tough it's interesting i'll be interested to see shannon the open house compared to like what it's going to be like five years from now because the same school that lucy's going to will she go through high school then too or i don't know we'll see okay but at least middle school right next three years it'll be interesting to see like three years from now and say did you make a friend and is it is it a friend that i met this weekend yeah because i think the schools know what they're doing because i think the schools want you to be as comfortable as they want your kids to be when they're going there because they want to make sure that it comes a community, you know? Jacob, what's up?

01:28:50 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how's it going?

01:28:52 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

Good, Jacob. What's happening?

01:28:53 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time. Hey, Jacob. Jacob on the phone. Yeah, I would just call my wife, actually. We have two kids, and, you know, being stuck inside, they're both younger, three and a year and a half, and, you know, it's hard to get out of the house, And, you know, you find the people with kids that you can also hang out with and things like that. So she's actually connected with a few friends off of, I can't remember the name of the app, but she has connected with a couple moms. One of them she hangs out with and talks to regularly, and we've gotten their kids together. She has kids the same age as mine.

01:29:29 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's nice that they have that for you.

01:29:33 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 4:

And most people don't realize that it's a thing.

01:29:37 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 1:

I think one of the problems, too, with schools, if you're trying to make friends, is that a lot of times, especially middle school, it becomes the pullback from your kids a little bit where you have to just drop them off in the parking lot. And I think sometimes when you're in the parking lot, you don't necessarily like I like when the kids are younger, you go into the school and you're more active.

01:29:57 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 3:

There's room parties. There's all sorts of things to volunteer. for like i i thought that high school was tough too because you want to become friends with like luke's got some buddies of his i didn't know any of the dads at all until we would go either go to a game or something or even close to graduation when the kids all the dads got together and they did a dad's thing once and they invited me to come and i knew like maybe only three of the dads and like five or six of the dads now we became friends at that party yeah and i'm like this sucks man because it's one of those things where as they get older, you don't go to the school as often to go do stuff. Celeste, what's going on, Celeste?

01:30:37 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:30:38 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 3:

Morning, what's happening?

01:30:40 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 4:

So I live in Muskegon, and at my daughter's school, we have to do morning or after-school pickups, so we all line up, all the parents, outside of the store. And at the beginning of the school year, it felt like a race to be the first one at the door so we could just grab our kids and get in the car. And then halfway through the year, we started actually talking to the parents because it was like, they look kind of weird, don't know if they're going to like us. And then once we became really good friends with these people, unfortunately, my daughter started getting picked on by one of the parents' kids. Oh, jeez. But we still see them every day at pickup, and it's like, are they going to be upset with us? Should we be upset with them because the bullying's not stopping? so now you have like the parents who have gone along but now the kids are butting heads and I think that also makes it a little difficult finding parents to be friends with

01:31:32 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 3:

boy that sucks by the way that's a whole different topic altogether when your really good friends kids are a-holes yeah exactly you know like you're like really good with mom or dad and then the kids like a total putz and you're like all I want to do is beat the crap out of that kid you know what I mean You don't want to call the kid ugly, basically, by saying he's a bad actor, you know?

01:31:56 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 2:

And you don't want to hang out with the new friend that you just made, because then that would force your kids to hang out together, and they don't even like each other.

01:32:03 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 3:

Exactly, yeah. Terrence brings up something interesting. Seasonal friends, because of the sports, right, Terrence? Yes. So, baseball season, they're your baseball friends. Football season, they're your football friends.

01:32:17 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 1:

yep and and but it creates healthy competition with the kids as they grow through high school yeah because my sons and the kids that we play with they went to separate high schools

01:32:30 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 3:

but they all still compete yes and they do travel or or any of the yeah that those kind of sports

01:32:37 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 1:

yeah the thing is the parents when they get together at like out of town meets they're all drinking together and having fun together but at the end of the season it's done and then you don't

01:32:50 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 3:

see anybody until the next season again it's like summer camp you know what i called it terrence baseball season was like this i used to call it dry july because i drank so much during baseball season during travel baseball season and then it would all end in july and i'm like chelsea i gotta stop drinking because these baseball parents man they know how to party on the road roseanne says in west michigan this is even harder to make parent friends and why is that roseanne

01:33:18 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 5:

first time long time i love you guys um yes actually in west michigan i grew up in the detroit area and i've been out in west michigan for 10 years yeah my oldest is going to be sick soon and he just started school this year and in west michigan there's a huge religious component okay so in detroit area it's very much hey what do you do for work to get to know someone and here it's what church do you go to so there is a lot of pressure around like the religious component and it it almost comes off very judgmental actually interesting well no that is that is

01:33:53 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 3:

kind of interesting because there is there is a component of people that want to also be within their same faith and stuff so i yeah i never really thought about that that's it that's wild

01:34:02 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 5:

yeah it makes it pretty hard but i mean we're just now getting to know some people in the community and stuff and we're still trying to build our village and i think it's really hard So I felt very validated when Shannon said, like, meeting parents and stuff, and we're hopeful that we get to build our village more and everything with our kiddos starting school.

01:34:19 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you something, Roseanne, though? Before our show started in West Michigan, everybody said there's no way that your show would do well in West Michigan because of everybody's religious denominations.

01:34:32 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 2:

They said we were too edgy. We were going to offend people.

01:34:34 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 3:

And one thing I realize is that I think that good people meet good people, no matter what you, you know, what you come up with.

01:34:42 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it should be based off of your character and who you are rather than what church you attend.

01:34:46 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

And I think that you may be putting too much on it, basically, off of knowing that they are part of a different church. And the way that you end that is to say, hey, you know what? If you don't have a church, maybe I don't have a church. Maybe I'm looking for one. And if I'm not looking for one.

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 2:

And then just say, hey, whatever it is that you go do, you know, I love it. Pray for me, you know? Yes, absolutely. So, well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:35:08 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. Take care. Bye-bye.

01:35:10 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Ah, Shannon. Shannon, Shannon, Shannon. I can't believe little Lucy's leaving the nest.

01:35:15 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 3:

Please don't say that because you can see me over here and I have a huge lump in my throat. I'm not okay with this. Not really. No.

01:35:21 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 4:

No. I don't think you have a problem making friends at all.

01:35:24 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

Thanks. She's going to do great, by the way. Yeah. I'm the one that.

01:35:28 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 4:

conversation for another day all right sure you about to cry make you cry yeah i like when you

01:35:35 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 3:

cry i literally just texted west i'm like i think i'm really struggling here yeah my baby not being

01:35:40 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 2:

a baby yeah okay and i am not on my period your shirt's red though listen i'm not going to make you cry but i am going to tell you that this is part of everything and she is doing amazing so So you should be proud of yourself for how she's done.

01:35:56 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 4:

I did not mean for this to get emotional. You've been holding that inside, though. Yeah. You know, time to come out.

01:36:04 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 2:

Should we make her cry? No, please don't. We should talk.

01:36:06 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 4:

We shouldn't run away from it. We here. Let's talk about it.

01:36:09 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if she's going to be mad at me.

01:36:11 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 4:

Why would she be mad?

01:36:13 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Make her laugh or something. Say something stupid.

01:36:16 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 4:

Nah. What's got you as emotional as you are right now, though?

01:36:22 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 3:

That she's not going to be in elementary school anymore. To me, I, like, I, even last night, I, like, just talking to her, I'm like, she's, like, old. And I just miss her being four years old, you know?

01:36:34 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Was it, like, a gradual thing? I feel so stupid. Or did it just kind of just hit you all at once?

01:36:39 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 3:

No, it's, it's been hitting me. I don't know why I'm so emotional about fifth, like, a fifth grade graduation, the anticipation of that. I just. It's big. I don't know. Even you saying, like, she's, you're not even going to see her a ton. and you're just going to drop her off, and she's going to be doing her own thing. It's like I want to make her three or four years old again. I miss that stage so much.

01:37:02 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 4:

That's so interesting. Josiah was in the kitchen this weekend, and the difference of him now as a sixth grader, even from him being a fifth grader, is so drastic. The way that he talks, the way that his posture is, his personality, like the shift between fifth and sixth grade is so real and so noticeable. but it's so beautiful too you're raising a beautiful human

01:37:27 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 3:

okay I'm literally going to lose it

01:37:31 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 2:

can I just say something to you as somebody that has old kids that has gone through this part of your life that be use this as an opportunity to get emotional and understand that but also let let her just enjoy this and you enjoy it and good things are going to come you know to you guys it goes time goes by so freaking fast i just want to truly push the pause button and what's going on and it's mojo in the morning show how are you

01:38:02 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 1:

hey mojo it's dan how are you doing everybody we're good shannon's a little emotional here and listen honey i love your heart it's so awesome and i'm i'm driving and i'm listening are you crying my kids are 26 and 23 it never stops honey you always think that they could be three years old again you're a great mom and your kids reflect that yeah and there's nothing wrong with emotion honey that's what it's about yeah show it thank you for that call and what's up

01:38:38 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 6:

kayla hey good morning i know mojo you're trying to make shannon cry i'm not doing anything

01:38:45 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 3:

no i just cried now because of the phone yeah so why does that tongue do it to everybody

01:38:50 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 6:

i don't know but i have a fifth grader he's going to go to sixth grade as well and i haven't cried

01:38:56 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 3:

until now and i'm like oh it is a big step for for parents like that because when you think elementary school that stage that era is done you're like holy cow they're like the rest of

01:39:10 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 6:

it is just going to be a blip yeah and i told my son i was going to cry at his promotion he was like but you still have i have a four-year-old but you still have her i'm like but you're still my baby for sure yes yeah and always will be by the way yeah yeah thanks a lot guys see ya take

01:39:29 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

care of yourself hi Jules hi hi hi um I just wanted to tell Shannon that my daughter just graduated from my school and I think that just being there and being present I don't feel like I ever missed anything for her and I think when they graduate from fifth grade it's just that start it's middle school but just watching them and being so proud of who they are becoming It's amazing. And she will.

01:40:00 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 3:

get through it and i'm sorry i'm crying too but it's just so beautiful and i'm just so happy that she is upset about it because think of all the kids that don't have parents that are upset about it you know what's funny i i i went back and i said this to chelsea when we would get emotional at the stages that you're at shannon with elementary school going on to middle school and then you with high school and i said did our parents cry and she goes they did they just didn't show us and it's true because as much as true and when we think that just think of those that don't have it's true that you know we look back and go god our parents really never cared that much but they did care they just i think we're more open to show our emotions like this which is such a good thing yeah and i think i think so too and i think honestly you guys both want to cry how about your kids being held back i mean you could have lucy being held back in elementary school because she's a dum-dum and she's not a dum-dum so seriously how great is this is true and your kid couldn't

01:40:58 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 1:

be excited yeah they're excited for the next chapter yes yeah this is a good time yep all

01:41:05 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 3:

right we love you so much julia love you shannon thanks love you guys if your friends don't make fun of you they aren't real friends this is mojo in the morning stay funny my friends kevin is just like in yeah make her cry like it wasn't about letting her cry he kicked me under

01:41:22 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 2:

the table here he's like shut up no i didn't you wanted to move on i wanted to get into it it's okay to let the feels happen i know we can't suppress our emotion let's get it out but my

01:41:31 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 1:

problem is i i truly during that conversation i just texted west i'm like i have a huge lump in my throat talking about this i am this is like i am not good what was it that it hit it was it

01:41:41 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 3:

it was when i i said that about you're not going to be able to go into school or was it i mean no

01:41:45 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 1:

So it's just like, even this weekend, I was having a tough time going, this is like, this is next for her. And, and it's, I look at my niece and my niece is four years old. And I'm like, that's how I, it's so weird to look at my niece. I'm like, that's still how I think about Lucy.

01:42:01 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 3:

That's why, that's why I say this to you. Don't miss a moment. You know, you had that Girl Scout camp thing. And I know that you were looking at it like, ah, crap, I got to go. Don't miss a moment. You have that moment now as your memory that you'll always have. So don't miss a moment. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Somebody's jealous of Kevin. He just found out that this person has been jealous for some time.

01:42:23 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, man. I used to work at a company a few years back, kind of like in the sneaker streetwear industry. People know this company. StockX. Yeah, that's a big company. Yeah, pretty cool company. So I used to do some YouTube stuff for them, commercials, content stuff, kind of forward-facing roles. And I ran into a guy that I really wouldn't consider like a friend. Like, I don't even know if the number I have in my phone right now is still his working phone number. But if I see him outside, like, it's cool. Like, it's good vibes or whatever. So I saw him outside, and he was like, man, can I tell you something? I'm like, yeah, what's up? He was like, bro, I used to be so jealous of you. Like, I used to see you and be jealous of what you did because it was something that I wanted to do. And I was like, okay. I don't know what to do with that. But just the fact that somebody felt a way and I guess was comfortable enough in their own skin that at this time they can come out and tell me was like a real moment. Did he treat you a certain way when you guys worked together? We didn't even work together. Like, this is somebody I just used to see outside, ran kind of the same circles, bumped into each other at a party or so like that.

01:43:32 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 1:

But he was kind to you is what I'm saying. He wasn't a jerk to you. And now he's coming back and going, hey, I treated you a certain way because actually now I look back and go, it's because I was jealous.

01:43:41 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 2:

it wasn't even that he treated me a certain way it was just more so i guess that from afar this is what he felt and i guess it had been weighing on him i guess at a certain point to where now that he saw me he felt comfortable enough to just say hey this is what i'm on or this is where i was do

01:43:54 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 3:

you look at him differently knowing that he he's been jealous of you no not necessarily i mean if

01:43:59 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 2:

anything needs to be looked at differently it's maybe the people who feel that way who don't tell you yeah i mean i think that's the bigger question mark but i kind of looked at it like he had come to a more evolved space where now he's kind of over it or you know you realize that everything that everybody has isn't have you ever been jealous of somebody no really i don't think i've ever been jealous of somebody jealousy is like i don't i try not to compare what i have to anybody else you know what i'm saying like i'm sure i'd have like moments maybe in my past where i but like nothing comes to mind was like dog i wish i had exactly what he had i just feel like we are

01:44:33 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 3:

you know blessed with what we're supposed to have i will say this focus we talked about this before about the show I used to have the worst jealousy in the it was with other radio shows because I would look at them and I would go god I wish I had this or god I wish I did this or god I wish it was in that city or god I would you know and I would look at that all the time and I'd listen to these other shows all the time and I'd be so focused on like what they put up on their social media and what they were doing. And it honestly got to a point where I think I got to a point where I realized when I became happy with myself, I became less jealous with them. And I think that a lot of times you feel that way. Like you look, and it's undoubted, I get jealous of guys all the time too. I look at guys, they're skinny and good looking. They've got great looking families and stuff. And I look at me and I'm fat and ugly and my family's okay. No, I'm just kidding.

01:45:27 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 2:

You said they're okay.

01:45:28 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 3:

No, but no, I like I look and I sit there and I go, what am I jealous of? Because, you know, they got their their stuff, right? They got their stuff that's there. But I it's interesting. I give that guy a lot of credit for saying that's what I'm saying.

01:45:44 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 2:

Like he reached a place internally where he realized, hopefully, that whatever path that he on is the path that's designed for him. Yeah. And regardless of what anybody else has, it's not for him.

01:45:54 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 3:

I think that your jealousy definitely fades as you start becoming happier with yourself, you know? What's up, Samantha?

01:46:01 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:46:03 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, who's the cutie pie with you, Samantha?

01:46:07 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 4:

My three-year-old daughter.

01:46:08 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 3:

Aw, hello, three-year-old daughter. What's your three-year-old daughter's name?

01:46:13 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 4:

Maddie.

01:46:13 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you? Morning, Maddie. What's going on? You wanted to comment on Kev and the jealousy topic here that we're talking about?

01:46:20 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I just think that's cool of that guy because I think we don't realize that we always have people that look up to us and that are jealous. And sometimes we don't think about that. So I think that's cool on the other guy's behalf that he's confident now that he can be like, I was so jealous of you back then. And we don't realize what other people are going through. and sometimes we can get caught up in comparing ourselves to other people that we don't realize other people are doing the same thing to us.

01:46:51 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

01:46:52 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's really important that, you know, you sit back and you think about it, almost analyzing a little bit of where it comes from, where it stems from, you know? Right. Samantha, Shannon's jealous of you because you've got a three-year-old. She wants to reverse time on her children right now.

01:47:10 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, come take her first then. it's funny because it's different when it's your own kids every parent knows that but it is funny girls versus boys are so different yes it there's really what's wrong with boys boys are so much more laid back i have an eight-year-old son and he's just so much more chill

01:47:34 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 3:

yeah oh i thought you were saying because i will tell you this i always look at people with little girls and i go god i wish we had little girls so i so i shouldn't feel that way there's a lot of

01:47:44 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 4:

there are pain in the ass i mean i'll call you in 10 years thank you samantha i appreciate it

01:47:52 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 3:

take take care of yourself you too uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text 95500 what's up dawn how

01:48:01 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 1:

you doing hi good how are you good what's going on i just wanted to say that if somebody is comfortable enough to tell you that they are jealous of you or were jealous of you that is a

01:48:13 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 2:

huge compliment it is kind of a nice compliment uh it is i mean i i looked at it like i just needed to build him up because i thought he was cool like that's the other thing bro i think certain times people are looking outwardly when they don't realize how dope they are yeah i was like like bro do you know who you are like you have nothing to be jealous about but that's the that's

01:48:35 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

actually a good reflection on you that you do that because there are some people that are so insecure with themselves if somebody said that to them they'd be like well thanks man i appreciate it and they wouldn't give it back to them to let them know how good there there's sometimes people don't know how to take a compliment and there's sometimes people that don't know how to just be honest too like i think that's very honest of you to say that you know that uh that this guy was as dope as he was i mean he is yeah i know i know some guys that it's so funny man people it's small small dick syndrome where guys get to a point where you know it in and it's not the small dick syndrome like they're driving big old sports cars although the kind of but the guys who you you go out with and I realize this with golf and Wes will notice this now that he's golfing more these guys that just get so caught up in how good they are how good they are I'm the you know I'm the greatest golfer this guy's a horrible golfer and they'll call out other people and stuff and then you go out golfing with them and you're like you're really not that good of a golfer like i got intimidated going out golfing with a lot of guys that i would hear them talk about their game and how horrible somebody else was and i'm not a good golfer i'm a horrible golfer and i'm walking going out going i can't tell you that you're you must cheat a lot because there's no way yeah there's no way that you're a good golfer and i think that that's something that i don't know women see it in other places too like women see it when they're around each other and and

01:49:59 - 01:50:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 6:

settings where it's a bunch of women together is like women are like that but guys sometimes get

01:50:04 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 5:

that I mean women are we are definitely jealous of other women I'm trying to think of a scenario like golf and if you're listening help me because I can't right now but um oh for sure that exists I

01:50:15 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 6:

think that it's funny how people look at each other's Instagram pages and stuff like that is reality I hate when I see somebody look at an Instagram page of somebody and then the first thing they got to do is talk crap about something that they see on the Instagram page yeah and I it makes me sad you know it's like you know just try to look at try to point out a compliment you know

01:50:33 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 2:

what's up remy yo what's good first time ever oh you're going to comment on the jealousy topic uh kev is absolutely amazing that you were able to take that in stride um it's awesome that that guy was able to find it in himself to be able to give you that and release that from himself um i've had a lot of people in my past be a little jealous of the things that i've been able to do and kind of get in the way of those things if they were able to but ultimately what god has for you he has for you nobody can stop it come on that's

01:51:13 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 6:

good and you'll block your blessings hating on somebody else look at this i gotta write these quotes down i'm jealous of you because you got all these quotes i am jealous of you that you

01:51:22 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 5:

can pull these quotes out of I don't even know where all the time I have to look at a calendar in order to figure out I still have a dang Pinterest for him Madison like it's 2010

01:51:32 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 6:

last call and then I'm moving on what's going on Madison um first time ever

01:51:37 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 8:

I am here to comment on you wanting little girls yes they are great But I also, I have an eight-year-old son.

01:51:50 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 6:

Clarify. Clarify. That sounds really pedophile-like. That's the headline. I don't want to see a little girl. No. Chelsea and I wish that we had a daughter. We wish we had a daughter. Go ahead. I'm sorry. What were you saying?

01:52:02 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 8:

They are nuts. They're bad. I mean, they're amazing, but one is enough. I'm here pregnant, and I'm happy it's a boy. Girls are great, but if you've got a little diva, she'll just, she would have been just like Chelsea. They suck the life out of you.

01:52:18 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 4:

Girls rule.

01:52:18 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 8:

Women are funny. Get over it. They suck the life out of you. But they're amazing.

01:52:22 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:53:26 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 6:

All right, Shannon with an update on what's trending in the Dirty on the 40.

01:53:29 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 5:

So it's okay. We'll go fast. F, if you are following along with the Sean Combs trial, you know that last week was a lot of testimony from his girlfriend, his former girlfriend of 10 years, Cassie Ventura, and she just detailed years and years of abuse during their relationship. Additional testimonies this week from Danity Cain member Dawn Rashard and Cassie's former friend Carrie Morgan, all of which corroborated Cassie's claims of abuse.

01:53:57 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 4:

This morning, testimony in the Sean Diddy Combs trial is expected to remain focused on the music mogul's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Prosecutors are expected to call her mother to the stand. Along with an escort, Ventura says she knew as the punisher.

01:54:12 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 7:

I'm actually looking forward to hearing his testimony to state exactly what was these freak-offs and how he earned the name The Punisher. Cassie's mother is just going to cooperate some of the injuries that she had seen on Cassie.

01:54:25 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 4:

Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, accused of forcing women to take part in sexual encounters he called freak-offs. Yesterday, singer Don Richard told jurors she saw Combs assault Ventura.

01:54:39 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 1:

It's a 2009 festival in Central Park. She said beforehand they were getting ready and she witnessed Sean Combs punch Cassie Ventura in the face with a closed fist.

01:54:51 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

On cross-examination, Combs' lawyers pointed out that Richard's account appeared to change several times. Jurors were shown these pictures of Ventura's injuries.

01:55:00 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 5:

allegedly at the hand of Combs. Also on the stand Ventura's former friend Carrie Morgan providing insight into this moment caught on a hotel security camera showing Combs knocking Ventura down and kicking her. Morgan testified she later went to Ventura's apartment where Combs was banging on the door with a hammer. ABC News contributor Bernarda Villalona called that a

01:55:24 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 6:

crucial moment in the trial. It didn't end at the Intercontinental Hotel that instead Sean Combs had went to the apartment and with the hammer was slamming onto the door trying to get in and trying to get Cassie. Combs's former assistant also took the stand saying when he

01:55:39 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 5:

interviewed for the job an employee told him this is Mr. Combs's kingdom we're all here to serve in

01:55:45 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 7:

it. They publicly released a lot of evidence yesterday. Screenshots of text messages between Diddy and Cassie. Photos of these male escorts that would participate in the freak offs including the the punisher um and if you heard usher and neo's name come up with this trial dawn richard also said that those two among others were witnesses to an alleged incident of diddy abusing cassie specifically punching her in the stomach so again this trial expected to continue for a couple more weeks the latest in what's going on with post malone's custody battle he is accusing his ex-fiancee jamie park of misleading the court now jamie post both vying for primary physical custody of their daughter here. And according to some new legal docs filed by Post's attorney, Jamie, again, mom, enrolled their three-year-old daughter in all sorts of activities in the LA area to create the impression that she lives there. But Post is like, well, no, wait a second. Their daughter has actually been living in Utah with him, where she's involved in music and gym and swim lessons and is under the care of a nanny with whom she is very, very close with. This is a big deal. The jurisdiction in this case is very significant because California courts typically award way higher child support payments compared to Utah, which is why mom is trying to say, well, no, no, no, wait a second. We actually live in California, not in Utah. Does that make sense? Smart on her bed. And lastly, officers at a prison in Costa Rica captured a cat with marijuana and cocaine attached to its body. They're calling this cat

01:57:20 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 1:

narco cat. Officers at a prison in Costa Rica captured a cat carrying two packages of drugs attached to its body. According to Costa Rican Ministry of Justice and Peace, officers spotted the cat carrying packages of marijuana and cocaine before they removed and confiscated the drugs. The cat, nicknamed named Narco Michi, or Narco Kitten, was then handed over to the National Animal Health Service for health evaluation.

01:57:52 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 7:

So the cat is smuggling drugs to the prisoners inside. Wow. Isn't that insane?

01:57:58 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting. They've talked about drug mules. I've never seen a drug kitten before. This is pretty wild. Narco Kitten.

01:58:04 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 4:

You're going to call it Narco Michi?

01:58:05 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

Narco Kitten. Narco Michi.

01:58:06 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 7:

01:58:18 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. We were talking about how OnlyFans ruins marriages. And this is an interesting one. Yesterday, we were getting into the discussion about how is it cheating to subscribe to somebody on OnlyFans? You're not touching body for body or even talking to them. All you're doing is subscribing to their page. Kind of like you subscribe to Hulu or subscribe to Netflix, you know, one of those streaming apps, but you're subscribing to a content creator. And it got into an interesting discussion that we said, you know what, we're going to delve into this a little bit more. People that feel like OnlyFans has ruined them. I've talked before on the show about how I think porn can really ruin your relationship and how I had to like step away and go realize, man, I think I was watching porn too much because i think it it definitely clouds your mind on what your relationship sexually should be like creates an expectation right yeah i mean it becomes one of those situations where you're watching this going thinking that's exactly what my life should be like and then you realize that

01:59:25 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 4:

just ain't right yeah i feel like when you look at porn from a single man's perspective i don't know how it is as a married man but as a single man i feel like if i'm looking at porn the women that i see in real life they don't look like human beings to me they look like objects yes if that

01:59:41 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 3:

makes well that yeah you know what i mean and i think only fans is similar to that you know so

01:59:45 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 7:

i've never been on only fans i don't know if either of you guys have but i feel like where only fans is different from like a porn site is that there is the possibility or the potential that you can actually correspond with Thank you.

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 3:

these people. Yeah. So like it, it can snowball probably pretty fast. So I did a little research

02:00:07 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 2:

and I found out that two out of five consumers of OnlyFans say they hide their accounts from their relationships. Okay. Duh. If you're hiding your account, what do you think? Um, you know, if that's the case, you know, what is your thoughts? And then this one's interesting. What do you, uh, what would you do if you found out that your significant other was actually spending money on somebody that's on OnlyFans. Initial T wants to come on the air with us to talk about this. You're being Voiceless Guys T. That's why we're also using your initial. How are you?

02:00:43 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 1:

I am good. Thank you. First time, long time. Hey, T on the phone.

02:00:49 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 2:

OnlyFans ruined your marriage?

02:00:52 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 1:

To be fair, it wasn't the only thing that ruined my marriage. Um, there were some other things, but it definitely put some irrefixable

02:01:04 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 2:

dents in my marriage. Really? What, what was he doing? Was he subscribing to a bunch of people

02:01:11 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 1:

or one person? Yeah, I had, we were really struggling with money. I just lost my car. We let all of our credit cards go. Like we were in a bad situation and I found out that he had multiple subscriptions um that that really caused an issue and then a couple months later i was taking a picture looking at something on his phone something completely innocent he handed it to me and i saw that he was messaging a woman asking for prices on her videos and come to find out it was a mutual friend of ours like somebody we hang out with wow so he was actually not only

02:01:56 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

you know subscribing to it he was paying this person through his only fans account

02:02:02 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 3:

to to do things for did you even know that that person was on only fans

02:02:06 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 1:

i did it until after and i'm like well wait a minute i know this name and yeah i wonder uh

02:02:15 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 2:

if that's the reason why you guys were financially in trouble?

02:02:20 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 1:

No, but it didn't help.

02:02:22 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 3:

What does it cost to subscribe to somebody's OnlyFans? Is it a lot?

02:02:27 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 1:

It's like $15 a month, and he had it for a few months. And for a few different people? I lost my whole vehicle. Well, this man is paying someone to get naked. Right.

02:02:39 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 2:

Wow. It's sad also to know that, you know, and scary, and this is where I think the OnlyFans thing is a little bit different than probably porn sites is the fact that he has the ability to actually communicate with them and possibly meet up with them. And who knows if it went to that level. Bath, are you there? Yes. Hi, Bath. What are your thoughts?

02:03:00 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm a first-time caller. Hey, Beth on the phone. I honestly believe OnlyFans is not the same as subscribing to Netflix. It's definitely not the same. I mean, to me, porn is soothing. So it ruined my marriage. So I'm not okay with it.

02:03:22 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 2:

What did it do to ruin your marriage?

02:03:23 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, it was that in TikTok and the videos that girls post where they're half naked. You know, it's just, to me, that's not acceptable.

02:03:32 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Would he ever go any step further? Was he giving money to these girls? Was he asking them to do specific things for him? Was he ever meeting them?

02:03:42 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 4:

Not that I'm aware of.

02:03:45 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 2:

So he was just looking at them on OnlyFans? And I don't know OnlyFans because I've never been on it. I don't even want it in my algorithm.

02:03:53 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't either.

02:03:54 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 2:

So tell me, he obviously had to subscribe in order to see them and see their pages because I don't think it's free, is it?

02:04:03 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 4:

I know it's that. It costs money.

02:04:08 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

So he was spending money on these women. They've got to pass some free ones. Yeah. Did you guys have a healthy sex life at the time that this was going on?

02:04:16 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes, very, very. So I wonder what pulled him into OnlyFans in the first place then. Like, was it curiosity or, you know?

02:04:27 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sure. I'm not sure.

02:04:30 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 2:

But it led to you guys eventually divorcing because you, did you find out he was cheating on you eventually?

02:04:37 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

No. but it's just the fact that you want to go look at other women like if you're married why are you looking at other women that are naked or half naked i mean just be faithful to me that's cheating

02:04:48 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

it's wild to hear that your guys's relationship you thought was a healthy relationship because a lot of times you'll hear the guys say or even the women say because there's a lot of women on only fans too say that they just

02:05:00 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 1:

had no relationship with their significant other you know Sophia what's up hey hey what's going on we're talking about how OnlyFans ruined my marriage when I say that by the way I feel bad because it makes me like this not yours but go ahead Sophia what's going on yeah so mine was

02:05:21 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 3:

actually a long-term relationship but we I had been looking through his bank records for some reason and I saw like the charges for it so he was sitting there telling me oh it wasn't me I didn't do this and I'm like yeah right okay so I actually went home and on my own phone I logged into his account because he used the same like email and password for everything and I saw the charges for that and then I saw like who he had been subscribing to everything and then for some reason i just had like a feeling he was on tinder so again i logged in to his tinder on my phone and i found out that he had been like physically sleeping with multiple women wow wow how about the

02:06:05 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 1:

person that he was not only fans with was he ever meeting up with them no but he was like paying her

02:06:11 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 3:

extra money for like private videos and stuff like that wow that's a it's amazing uh what these guys

02:06:19 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 1:

and I say this again, girls can do it too but what they'll ask these guys to do, you know, these people to do on OnlyFans and you know, you hear it oh, I'm just showing my feet feet leads to other body parts too Initial B, are you there?

02:06:36 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm here

02:06:36 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 1:

Hi, we're voices guys and you Is this not about your relationship? This is about a friend's relationship?

02:06:44 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 2:

It's not, it's about my best friend

02:06:45 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay, talk to us, what happened?

02:06:47 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 2:

So I got a call, and she explains to me that she has caught her newly husband doing the deed as soon as she leaves for work in the morning, and this was caught on her pet cam.

02:07:07 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Doing the deed, meaning he was having sex with other women in their house?

02:07:12 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 2:

No, he was taking care of himself.

02:07:14 - 02:07:23 | Speaker 1:

to women that he was talking to on only fans on only fans do you think do what was a specific

02:07:23 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 2:

clip and it said a girl's name and i googled it and we found the exact creator and did you know did he ask her to make that for him well so we thought it was like a one-time thing and I'm like the FBI when it comes to this kind of stuff. And we found out that we looked at the pet cam for like months. He does it every morning.

02:07:48 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Every morning.

02:07:48 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 2:

As soon as she walks out the door.

02:07:50 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Talk about a pet cam. That's crazy.

02:07:52 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 2:

That is insanity that that's what caught it.

02:07:55 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 1:

That is wild.

02:07:56 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Every single, like for the past like three months.

02:07:59 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Well, it's wild that he just, you know, he was doing it just for his own, you know, pleasure, like taking care of himself. Because it's wild that he didn't go to the level that Stephanie's husband went to. Because, Stephanie, your husband actually hired these girls to be prostitutes for him, huh?

02:08:22 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 4:

Not exactly directly, but at first I found out it was like a cam girl site. And then later on, he invested a large amount of money for about, like, a year.

02:08:35 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 1:

How much money are we talking?

02:08:38 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 4:

About anywhere from, like, $50 to $600 a month.

02:08:41 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 1:

So, I'm sorry, you said $600. $600 a month? $600 a month doing this. Ew.

02:08:50 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it ranged.

02:08:52 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 1:

And he was actually meeting them? Like, they were being prostitutes for him?

02:08:57 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

He met somebody in Vegas, and then I eventually found out that they were over. I found out that he had a Zelle payment. And then he at first was claiming, saying that he was paying for videos, and it wasn't a prostitute in Vegas. But we were together. We stayed since we were 19, and we're 34 now, and married for eight years, moved away from Michigan. and then he encouraged me to have a baby and then, like, all of this spiraled soon after.

02:09:28 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. Interesting. Wow. You know, it's wild because you sit there and you think to yourself, you're like, man, $600 a month, you know, I mean, that's like a car payment for them doing this. How often are they getting together? And in some cases, you hear these stories where these OnlyFans people we'll charge you a hundred bucks or something like that and i'm going jesus that doesn't sound like a lot of money like to do this i want to hear from the guys who for lack of a better term justify

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 2:

this like what is your reasoning for doing it well uh sam is on with us right now sammy there i don't know if it's a woman or man sam yes oh sam's one sam doesn't think that only fans

02:10:11 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 4:

is cheating and actually you're cool with it no no no no no porn uh so i'm cool with porn like you know i watch porn i don't have an issue with that only fans it's a little extreme the fact that you're paying another person money to get naked when you could

02:10:34 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 2:

pay me you know what i mean yeah what if you don't look like her wait wait hold on a second wait but here's the interesting thing as a spouse you're saying if you're paying somebody else pay me and

02:10:44 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 4:

i'll do those fun things for you absolutely like you why would you give it elsewhere like

02:10:50 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 2:

Like the guy that's sitting home masturbating to some woman's video that she makes, right?

02:10:57 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:10:58 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that is...

02:10:59 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 4:

Like, you know, porn, like, we can watch porn together, that's cool, whatever, but when you're dishing money out to another woman...

02:11:07 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 5:

And it becomes a one-on-one engaging situation. Yeah.

02:11:11 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I think that's taken it a little too far. Like, a lot of people, like... Well, that's where I think the cheating comes in. Yeah.

02:11:19 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 2:

um whitney is a retired only fans girl i love it whitney are you there out the game yeah i'm here you got out of the game after making some bucks huh

02:11:30 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 3:

yeah i just didn't want i mean after like it was pretty heavy and like covid which i feel like is when it kind of hit its peak and now it's just like whoever kept being popular kept going with it i just didn't care to do it anymore it honestly got to an exhausting point but But, yeah, I mean, it all ranges, really, like, for payment purposes, because my spouse loved it. He loved that I did it, but it just got to a, like, mental point where I wasn't about it. But for everyone, like, who's curious about payment-wise is it can be a subscription price, but there's also, like, a lot of women who have it just free. So you technically subscribe, but there's no price until you pay, like, per message, per view. so some people will send out like daily messages weekly whatever it may be with like certain things attached and then a price tag and then that's how it gets racked up so easily because sometimes people will be like oh it's four dollars for this set of like 10 pictures or something and then they send that out later today and then they're like oh it's another five dollars for this or whatever

02:12:38 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

so i can add up pretty quick do you ever feel bad for what you possibly have done to relationships

02:12:43 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 3:

um yes very much like in that was like another mentally taxing thing because most people like and i don't know some of them could have been men or women not sure but there was like one person who reached out to me and he was like oh this is so and so and i was like oh oh i really hate really hate that you said that because i mean a lot of people i would block if i was uncomfortable um because i i just don't i don't like that i don't condone that yeah um obviously i wanted to make money but like at my own conscience no i don't did you ever have a spouse

02:13:19 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 5:

reach out to you to get some more details about like what the relationship actually was between you and their husband or wife boyfriend girlfriend whatever actually no but i'm very grateful for

02:13:34 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:13:35 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting to know that there was a stat that actually when I was doing research on this, OnlyFans, that said OnlyFans content creators have a lifespan of only a couple of years because it becomes taxing on them knowing that they're doing this, even though the money is as big as it can be. I mean, you could make hundreds of thousands of dollars doing this, if not more.

02:14:01 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, easily. I mean, if you're, like, branding as well, your marketing as well. But, yeah, it does take – I mean, for some people, they enjoy it. They love it, and that's great. For me, yeah, it just became too mentally draining. There were things that I just also didn't want to do, so I would lose people, which is totally fine. Everyone's got their limits. They've got their boundaries.

02:14:20 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 1:

You said you were in a relationship at the time, and your boyfriend was cool. Would you be cool with him following OnlyFans content creators and engaging with them?

02:14:31 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

see that's funny we've had this him and i have had this conversation multiple times um i didn't like i if he subscribed i wasn't okay with it but if he saw stuff like we would look at my page together because i followed other women as well to see like i want to know what you're posting if you're making money on this competition yeah yeah exactly like i need to know um so it was more so it was fine with me while we were doing it together if he were to do it without.

02:15:00 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 7:

my knowledge i would not be okay with it but the fact that we were both so involved with it as a

02:15:04 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 9:

whole it was okay well that's the thing is doing it without your spouse's knowledge that's where

02:15:09 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 8:

the cheating aspect comes in and that says so much to me coming from a content creator on only fans who is aware of everything that's going on on the platform it's mojo in the morning what's up

02:15:19 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 1:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

02:16:26 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 2:

I would say Bishop State is like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put them in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or any 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

02:17:30 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning Live

02:17:34 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 9:

I'm backed up I'm backed up Not that backed up I'm backed up on commercials I gotta get to them Aaron a little bit But we're gonna pay bills In just a second So we're gonna give you a chance To win a thousand dollars Your chance to win Coming up and then Chris Brown tickets this hour. It is time now for Am I the A-Hole on Mojo in the Morning. And what's going on? What's the Am I the A-Hole this week?

02:17:58 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 6:

So, hey, I hooked up with a guy that my best friend used to hook up with, and now she's mad at me. And am I an A-Hole for doing this?

02:18:10 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 9:

Well, of course you are. There you go. That's Am I the A-Hole for this week. We'll see. I agree.

02:18:16 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 8:

That's very kind driving. That is very cut and dry to me.

02:18:20 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 9:

I hooked up with a person that my friend hooked up with. Am I an a-hole for doing this? Allison is on the phone with us. How long ago did your friend hook up with this person?

02:18:32 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 7:

It was like two years ago.

02:18:34 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 8:

When you say hook up, was it truly they just hooked up one time and that was it? Or they had an actual relationship relationship?

02:18:42 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 7:

Well, it was more like a situationship. They didn't really have a relationship. But, yeah, they hooked up multiple times.

02:18:48 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 5:

Now, did she come home or come to you bragging about how good he was and you had to find out?

02:18:54 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 7:

No, that's not it at all. We just ran into each other and it just happened.

02:18:59 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 9:

Okay, but you knew that they hooked up with each other because you knew him when they were together.

02:19:06 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I did.

02:19:07 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 9:

Okay. Did you guys, when you guys ran into each other And it came, you know, down to you both, you know, fooling around with each other. Did you guys both acknowledge your friend and say, oh, this is going to be awkward? Or did, was she not even in your mind?

02:19:25 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 7:

I mean, she was, but I was like, they just hooked up. It's not like they were in a relationship. So I didn't really feel bad about it.

02:19:31 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 9:

Okay. And is this a one-time thing with you in this guy? Or do you think you can have a relationship with him?

02:19:38 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 7:

You know, at this point, I don't know. but I definitely want to see him again.

02:19:43 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 9:

Does she know or she doesn't know?

02:19:46 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 7:

No, I told her about it. You did tell her. She was probably mad. Yeah. Okay.

02:19:51 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 8:

I could never just mentally hook up with somebody that one of my friends hooked up with because like I'd be thinking.

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 1:

about her and what it was like with her. I don't, my brain works a weird way.

02:20:05 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, but I would rather, I would rather be, I guess I'd rather be in the position of Allison's friend than be Allison because I would feel like I'm the sloppy seconds. And I don't know, Allison, if you ever even thought about that. Guys think about stuff like that. I don't know if girls do, but I, but I honestly would have, eh, I don't know. I don't know if I could get into a relationship with somebody that I knew that my friend was in a relationship with. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Am I the a-hole? Is Allison an a-hole for even starting anything with somebody that her friend hooked up with? I changed my opinion on you, Allison. I'm going to say this. If they had a long-term relationship and you got into it with him and fooled around with him and didn't at least acknowledge it to her, you know, before it got to that point, then I would say that you're an a-hole. But if she just fooled around with him, kind of like you just did, I think he's on the market. He's fine. You know, it's like buying a used car. She already had it. She drove it. She's on to something new. You can get on in.

02:21:15 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

I know I'm a used car.

02:21:16 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Do you feel like he's a used car?

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 6:

No, I hope not.

02:21:23 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 3:

I know. I feel bad. I feel bad doing it because it's more than that. So, I don't know.

02:21:29 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 4:

She's not an a-hole, bro.

02:21:31 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

She's not an a-hole. No, you're not an a-hole.

02:21:33 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 4:

And I'm going back to what you were saying about how guys think sloppy seconds is a bad thing. I don't think that's the case. Really? Depending on the nature of the relationship of my friend who, you know. You've had somebody else's girls? Has this ever happened to you? Yeah, for sure. Like, you were friends? I've been somebody's sloppy seconds. Oh, wow. Okay. What's the, I mean, if it's just sex. Is that how you got pink eye? No, no, no. If it's just sex, then I think, you know.

02:21:56 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 3:

Then it's just sex.

02:21:57 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

Then the rules don't apply to sex.

02:21:58 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Antonio, what's up? Am I the a-hole? Do you think Allison's an a-hole?

02:22:02 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 2:

No, and I think my man literally just said exactly what I was getting ready to say. I don't think she should look at it in floppy seconds. I think she's just enjoying her life. You know, the other two weren't in a committed relationship. It just sounds like that she's mad about it now because maybe she did have feelings for him and maybe nothing went anywhere. So now hearing about her friend hooking up with him, maybe she feels some type of way about it. That's really all I got from it.

02:22:25 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 3:

That's actually a good question, Allison. I wonder if she does have feelings for him, and that's why she's upset.

02:22:33 - 02:22:38 | Speaker 6:

I just don't think that she does. She's in a committed relationship now. She loves her boyfriend, so why would she care?

02:22:38 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, because they still always do. Stephanie, what's up? Is Allison in the hole?

02:22:43 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I do believe so. I think that Allison should have asked the person, her friend, listen like i met up with this guy and we haven't done anything yet but how do you feel about it because in in the end allison does not know how her friend truly felt about what happened between her and that guy but if so allison's friend could have been madly in love with that guy and broke up with him for x y and z and allison had no idea that's a crappy but like allison said she's in a

02:23:07 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 3:

that friend's in a relationship right now boy that would be wrong to the guy that she's in a

02:23:11 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

relationship i just still feel like i kind of agree i feel like it like if it's if it's a true friend of yours everything should be put on the table like there shouldn't be any secrets when it

02:23:21 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 3:

comes to relationships like this i think sometimes though it it is hard to like put something off and go let's you know come back to no and i i get that part of it too taylor remember daniel from

02:23:33 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 1:

two years ago yeah i met him you mind if we have sex taylor what's up hey uh definitely an a-hole

02:23:42 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 5:

sorry but because first of all you ask your friend you know you find out if it's even okay to do that because sometimes girls don't care and have the sloppy seconds but the fact that it was a situationship there's probably feelings involved there was probably something going on like that's that's a line you just don't cross if it's a real friend of yours okay boy the women are definitely

02:24:05 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 3:

calling her out for being an a-hole the guys obviously think different janita what do you

02:24:09 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 5:

think bro this is so disgusting like where's your self-respect it's nasty just like boys have bros before babes like where where's your dignity because like you nasty wow nasty nasty they're coming down on you allison i'm seriously like in the black community that's just not a thing

02:24:29 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

although that is so true kevin just says that it is he's he's had no problem in the black community

02:24:36 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 5:

See, that's a never.

02:24:37 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Never.

02:24:37 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, period. Baby for females. You don't do that. It's nasty.

02:24:41 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. Baby Leg Jay, let's ask him. You know the black community, Jay. I heard from Jay to Minnie. What's going on, Baby Leg Jay? What do you think? Is she an a-hole?

02:24:49 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

No, she's not an a-hole. I gotta say, everybody got sloppy seconds, third, fourth, fifth. She's just in the mixing part of life. That's period.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 1:

Excuse my friends, but bang who you want and bang who you don't and be the rest alone.

02:25:07 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 2:

That's it. We're finding out that this is definitely a guy versus girl thing. Yeah, this is definitely that. I think girls just aim to be a little more transparent in their friendships. Yes. And I think that guys, honestly. Don't care. A dick has no conscience. Let's just put it that way. And his name was Dick.

02:25:27 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 1:

That was the most no laugh ever.

02:25:30 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, Marissa says that this happened to you. Marissa, which one were you? Were you the friend that was once in the relationship?

02:25:37 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 1:

No, she was, but they were like 14, and they really only hung out. They never did anything, and then when I was 21, I had a baby with him.

02:25:46 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Well, you know, they were 14, for God's sakes.

02:25:49 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but she was really mad at me for a while, and we could talk. That was her first love. For like two years, yeah.

02:25:56 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 2:

That actually is kind of an interesting thing. the person that you had your first big crush on and then your friend ends up getting pregnant by him. I don't know.

02:26:05 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was like seven years later, though, so I figured she'd be over it.

02:26:11 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 2:

That is wild. Yeah. Hold on. Tracy Roszak.

02:26:16 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

02:26:18 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 2:

This is actually a, yes, one of them. I have a couple of those, and I've got a couple of, like, guys that I grew up with, and I've got a guys in radio group chat.

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 1:

How nerdy is that one?

02:27:32 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

The guys in radio group chat are people that you know. There's people that are part of it. Woody from The Woody Show, and my son Joe is in one of them, and there's some, you know, some other people that probably want to go in aimless. But this particular one is a group of people that lately we've been using lots of GIFs and sending lots of those pictures, those goofy pictures of that, you know, will be available if you go into your images. What is it called? Hashtag images or whatever the deal is. Is that what it is? Yeah. I never know if it's GIFs or GIFs or what is it called? Well, it's actually GIFs, but nobody said that. So it is GIFs? And you're weird if you don't. Because now they call them images on there. So you go in there and you look for something that associates to it. And this is the one in particular. I've been looking at dog ones lately because we found out that one of the guys that is in this one group chat that I'm in is dating a girl. and he admitted to all of us that the girl that he is dating who seems like a normal person until she did this has a dog and when she feeds her dog at night she puts the food down on the floor so that the dog can eat it in the dog's bowl yeah but doesn't want the dog to feel like the dog is there eating by itself, so she gets her plate of food and then sits down on the floor and eats with the dog when the dog is eating. That's weird. And he realized this when he came over to her house to have food with her, and she got down on the floor and started eating on the floor and wanted him to come sit down on the floor, and he said, eh, I don't think I'm going to do that. That's weird. Would you, for a girl You've got some good looking girls in your life If she was, how good looking did she have to be To get you on the floor To eat down there on the floor with the dog That's not the kind of doggy style I'm looking for I could see you doing it though Nah I mean, maybe once Maybe once Early in the relationship First day Forget it bro, let's get on here You put your best foot forward

02:30:00 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 4:

don't you on that particular time perfect person it seems like something stupid to do but after a

02:30:00 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:30:05 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 4:

while like get off the floor bro it's dirty down there i don't i'm not a big dog guy shannon i know you got a million dogs do you ever feel like your dogs are lonely when they're eating and you want

02:30:15 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 5:

to go down on the floor with them slightly attacked here because you do this so i'm the one that feeds the dogs as soon as i get home from here i feed all three dogs and i eat lunch as well And it's only me in the house. So there are maybe more times than not that I will sit with my back on the floor, with my back against the cupboards, and I will eat my lunch on the floor. Oh, come on.

02:30:40 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on. We need a picture ASAP.

02:30:44 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 5:

I probably do it like 50% of the time.

02:30:47 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 4:

Come on. Why are you down on the floor?

02:30:50 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. We're going to start sending these to you now. I haven't seen them all morning. Companion shoot. So, like, Bo will eat his food, a little bit of food, and then he'll come over and he'll want to get pet, and then he'll go back and eat some more food, and I don't know. I feel kind of guilty that I haven't been with him all day, so that's my interaction.

02:31:06 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 4:

But don't you think that the dog is eating by him, like, enjoying eating?

02:31:11 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 5:

No, they missed me.

02:31:12 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 4:

Really? So the dog missed you so much that you've got to get down on the floor and you've got to eat with the dog?

02:31:18 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 5:

I feel like you're making it sound weird, like I'm eating my food like the dog's eating its food. I'm literally just sitting.

02:31:25 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 4:

Do y'all have conversation?

02:31:27 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm usually on my phone, but I'm there.

02:31:31 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 4:

Here is, uh, here, here's some of the ones, by the way, when the, when you and Wes have, uh, lovemaking time, when you have the, the, the lovemaking time, do you feel like you have to go down on the floor for the dog to be able to, here, here's the one I just sent to the guy. I sent it in our group chat right now. This is a Shannon and one of her dogs.

02:31:52 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 5:

together. I mean, so Bo thinks that he is human and he does, if there's an extra seat at the table, he will sometimes just sit in a seat and just watch all of us eat dinner. Oh my God. I have the weirdest

02:32:04 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 4:

dogs. Your dogs sit in one of your seats at the

02:32:06 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 5:

kitchen table. If there is an empty seat, Bo will get up in that seat and just sit there. I have so many pictures of that.

02:32:12 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 4:

Bro Cal, what's up?

02:32:14 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I was just saying, I hope she never settles because she's going to find a man that is going to make a spot at the table

02:32:22 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 6:

for that dog oh come on bro cal come on come on oh also first time long time

02:32:28 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 4:

you're just joking right you don't mean it seriously you don't think no no i'm absolutely

02:32:36 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 1:

serious because any man that's willing to be with a woman and not subtle he's gonna make it right for

02:32:40 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 4:

that is the most insane thing ever that she's getting down on the floor to eat with the dog

02:32:47 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's why I said the man would make a spot for her at the table.

02:32:49 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 4:

I, well, and put the dog up at the table like Shannon does with her dogs.

02:32:54 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. I don't put him there. He just gets up there.

02:32:58 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, don't you ever, like, get your dogs and say, down?

02:33:01 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 5:

I mean, yes. But sometimes it's down.

02:33:05 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 4:

I hate when the dogs are in the same room with us when we're eating. Because the whole time.

02:33:10 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I wish mine, you know. They are in every room that I'm in all the time.

02:33:15 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 4:

They're constantly at my feet because they know I'm going to drop something. So they're kind of looking for something there. And then they're like touching your toes and stuff like that. I don't like it. Interesting. I don't like it. Henry does this. Whenever Chelsea and I tape our podcast at our kitchen table, he can tell that we're there for a while and gets very jealous. So he pretends like he has to go outside to go pee. And he'll ring his bell that's on the door. And I know he doesn't have to go pee. And so he'll just sit there. He wants to get our attention because he's all upset that we're spending so much time together. Aaron, what's up?

02:33:49 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I was just saying that I sometimes sit on the floor, but I have cats. And it's the other way around. They'll actually look at me funny and leave. And I'll be there by myself just eating my lunch or dinner.

02:34:05 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 4:

That's weird, bro. Do you think your cats ever look at you and go, what is this middle-aged guy doing with me? You know what I mean?

02:34:14 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 3:

Every day.

02:34:15 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What's up, Alan? How you doing?

02:34:19 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, Mojo?

02:34:20 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:34:22 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, first time. Long time. Hey, a lot of them in there. Just on the phone. It's our ninth. What's up? Hey, so you're talking about this girl that sits down on the floor and eats dinner with her dog?

02:34:32 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:34:32 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 2:

so when you guys started talking about this i thought you guys were going to say something real weird like she like eats his food or something and then you said that's all she's doing bro if she's cute and i got a shot i will sit there i will enjoy a full three course meal

02:34:46 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

with her come on come on reservation come on man yeah oh yeah come on especially if she cooks it oh yeah so so you'll do anything for a piece of ass won't you i'm not eating her dog food

02:34:59 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:35:00 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 4:

what about her cat food oh no no no i i can't do the fish no wait can you date a girl with cats

02:35:08 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 3:

because i to me that was a thing that i couldn't do i could never date a girl that had cats

02:35:12 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 4:

well i i have a cat i'm single now but i have a cat that me and my ex got when we were together

02:35:17 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 3:

and she's cool cats are fine cats are okay it depends on how hot she is i i just for some reason and no offense to any cat owners because i know cat owners get mad at me whenever i say this thing i just feel like cats bring up a whole different set of circumstances with the uh with

02:35:31 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 4:

the owners what do you mean i just i don't know i mean i mean and for the most part cats are chill

02:35:37 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 3:

they're just a little weird is all yeah cat cat like dog owners like dogs are loyal where cats aren't and i always feel like the the owners of them are just like they're animals like

02:35:48 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 4:

don't give a crap that's all they don't care what you do right and that's how i feel like

02:35:53 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 3:

the relationship would be with a girl that has cats. You're saying girls who own cats aren't loyal? I just feel like they just don't give a crap. I don't know. Damn. That's a crazy take. That's a hot take Tuesday. Like at any moment, they're just going to leave me. What's up, Jen? Hi.

02:36:08 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going?

02:36:10 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 3:

Good, what's going on?

02:36:12 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 2:

I was just going to say my best friend in the world, she hand feeds her dog ground beef with organic butter, like, every night. Oh, my God.

02:36:21 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 3:

What about, does she have a man in her life?

02:36:26 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 2:

She does, and he just goes along with it. It's so funny.

02:36:30 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I'll tell you, if she feed him organic butter, I better have to pick it a litter with what I'm eating right. Jay, what's up, Jay?

02:36:39 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on? So one time me and this girl were, you know, doing it, and she said her dogs were in the room, so she kept saying, lay down, lay down. I thought she was talking to me. That's great.

02:36:56 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

Cheat, and you'll get caught. It's the War of the Roses in Minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:37:06 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't believe you, but okay.

02:37:08 - 02:37:28 | Speaker 3:

02:37:28 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 5:

Swifty's freaking out this morning after finding out that Taylor Swift debuted her re-recorded version of Look What You Made Me Do in the latest episode of The Handmaid's Tale.

02:37:39 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 3:

Which, by the way, is the series finale that they're using it for.

02:37:43 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 5:

This is big because it marks the very first official release from Taylor's very anticipated Reputation Taylor's version album, one of the two remaining albums that she plans to re-record to regain control of her master. So this was like the first little step into her doing that.

02:38:04 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

Let's see if it's different.

02:38:09 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 5:

That sounds a little different. You hear the sound effect from the show, too.

02:38:13 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Yeah. By the way, it's really getting good. Like, this is it.

02:38:19 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 5:

Do not tell me anything.

02:38:20 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 3:

So watch this season of Handmaid's Tale.

02:38:23 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 5:

Megan Thee Stallion taking to social media to address the ongoing harassment and misinformation surrounding that suiting incident involving Tory Lanez. On TikTok, Megan writes, at what point are y'all going to stop making me have to relive being shot by Tory? And again, this is a big deal because now there's been some information that was released from Tory Lanez's legal team suggesting that it was Meghan's former friend, Kelsey Harris, who was the actual shooter, not Tory. She says these claims are all part of a hate campaign. She urged Tory and his supporters to please cease spreading false narratives. She wrote, Tory, please leave me alone. You are an effing demon. And again, he is serving a 10-year sentence for what happened. And a new study shows that more than half of people worldwide hit the snooze button every morning, with many averaging about 20 additional minutes of sleep. Are you guys snoozers or do you wake up right away?

02:39:25 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 3:

I wake up right away. I used to hit the snooze button like a bajillion times. So now I just set my alarm for whatever the time was that I was snoozing to.

02:39:35 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

I've been snoozing. I've been hitting it once, but I'm learning that it's no good and it's actually no good. So it might feel to you like you're getting in a few extra minutes of rest, but actually sleep experts are saying don't do it because snoozing disrupts the critical REM stage of sleep. So you're actually going to feel groggier and get a less restful start to your they um

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 3:

So experts recommend doing what you do, Mojo, setting your alarm for the latest possible time, just getting up immediately when it goes off to optimize your sleep quality and your daily performance.

02:40:09 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, we get not enough sleep. You're supposed to get minimum six and a half to seven hours of sleep a night.

02:40:15 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 3:

I never get that on a week, during the week.

02:40:17 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 1:

They say those that are only getting about five hours or five and a half hours of sleep, that they're cutting their lives by about a year or a year and a half.

02:40:25 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:40:26 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy.

02:40:27 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 3:

All right. For all of today's 30, catch up on what you missed by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:40:32 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 1:

And one last thing. They say that you can't make up for sleep on the weekends. Really? Yeah, I read the whole article about it. They say that most people that think that they can make up for it on days that they're off aren't really making up for it. It's even causing more damage.

02:40:46 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 5:

02:41:09 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 1:

So, Stacey, you think that your husband is cheating? Hi. Hi. How you doing?

02:41:15 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Not really, though.

02:41:17 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Stacey, you think that your husband is cheating with a coworker?

02:41:21 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:41:22 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, explain this story, because this story is definitely a little shady. What's up?

02:41:30 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 2:

My husband and I went to a work party about a month ago, and he works. It was a big event, and it was just very awkward because there was a woman there that I felt like he was purposely avoiding, and I caught on to it pretty quickly. so we sat down at our table and she joined us and then he made us get up and move like almost immediately and i kind of asked him about it and he said that he didn't want to talk to her and told me that he hated her so the whole night she kept looking at me and i don't know i felt like um so i got her name and i looked her up on facebook later and my husband had liked all of her photos like even one from years in the past and like a recent photos too yes so i'm like why would he be liking these photos if he hates her also why are you friends on facebook with

02:42:27 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 1:

your co-worker well the friends with a co-worker thing doesn't doesn't shock me but the fact that he was so against you guys being there next to her or hanging out and then the fact that she was making it very apparent that she wanted to be close to you seems weird yeah and like i thought

02:42:50 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 2:

i have been happily married for nine years i'm like there's never a thought in my mind that that would happen so all right so and i just feel like he is like i just have a gut feeling about it

02:43:01 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 1:

all right so your thought is that there's something more to it and he's just trying to stay as far away from her as possible while you're there we're gonna do the war of the roses We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Is he at work right now?

02:43:18 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:43:19 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 1:

All right. I want you to mute your phone. Okay. Mute your phone so I don't hear even background sound. Can you do that? Hit mute. All right. We're going to call up her husband, and we're going to see where he's going to send the roses to. His name's Gavin. We want the flowers to go to Stacey.

02:43:56 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:43:57 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 3:

Hi, is this Gavin?

02:44:00 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, speaking. Who's this?

02:44:02 - 02:44:20 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Gavin. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you happen to have less than a minute to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses? It'll be super quick. I'm not going to ask you for credit card information or anything crazy.

02:44:20 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 4:

No, no. You said free flowers?

02:44:23 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Totally free. Yep.

02:44:27 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, as long as you don't need my credit card, I can do a survey. That's fine.

02:44:31 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Gavin?

02:44:35 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yes, I have.

02:44:37 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 3:

Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:44:44 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah, I got something coming up. So, yeah.

02:44:47 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. As I thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So I need to get a first and a last name for starters of who you want these to go to. And just so you're aware, they do.

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 1:

they will go out a little bit later on this afternoon oh my god all right wait that's the

02:45:05 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 3:

whole survey just those two questions it is i promise to you yes yep pretty good deal pretty good i like it all right um all right what did uh sorry i was i got excited what did you say you

02:45:17 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 1:

needed for a first and a last name of who you want the flowers to go to uh angela is the first name okay and last name and i can spell that if you need it uh that's okay so uh what is the angela's

02:45:32 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 3:

phone number um that is a good quick hold on i gotta actually lift this up can you wait can Can you hold on a sec? Yep, absolutely. Okay. I'm just going to put you on speaker while I, um, I got to click through like three things. Hold on. Okay. Um, okay, I got it. Let me know when you're ready.

02:46:04 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm ready.

02:46:06 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is.

02:46:08 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh. yep okay and what is angela's relationship to you

02:46:18 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 3:

um yeah you you need that for the roses so essentially i'm creating a profile for you

02:46:25 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 1:

this is part of it and i have to check off a box with with that okay so when you hopefully you'll order flowers from us in the future and this will be a very quick even quicker process right no no

02:46:36 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that makes sense. She's just like, you know, a close friend. We've been seeing each other for a bit.

02:46:42 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And we do something unique at rosesboom.com, Gavin. Instead of sending a paper card with the roses, in this case, Angela's going to get a text alerting her that she has a delivery, and then this voice memo will come along with that text. She'll be able to hit play and know they're from you. So I'm going to count you down, and then you could just record just a little something that she can play when she gets the flowers. Does that make sense?

02:47:06 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay. When are you going to do it?

02:47:09 - 02:47:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to count you down right now, and then you just start talking. Here we go. Three, two, one.

02:47:18 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 3:

Angela, these are from Gavin.

02:47:23 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Are you good with that?

02:47:27 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think so.

02:47:29 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:47:36 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Sure, that's fine. Okay. And Gavin, I'm going to jump on just to kind of wrap everything up so that we can send those flowers off. I just need to let you know one last thing, okay?

02:47:49 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:47:50 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 2:

Gavin, I wanted to let you know that while you have been sending the flowers off and we will send them to her, that your wife Stacy has been listening in to this call and just heard you send flowers to another woman.

02:48:05 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, don't send them. Don't send the flowers.

02:48:12 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're definitely going to send the flowers so that everybody kind of knows what's going on.

02:48:23 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Why would you send them?

02:48:24 - 02:48:41 | Speaker 2:

Gavin, your wife is listening in to this call and can hear you right now and just heard you send flowers to somebody that wasn't her. And Stacey, is this the person that you were worried about?

02:48:43 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Stacey, I can't believe you're doing this to me. i'm not doing i'm not doing anything it's really not not what not what you think

02:48:58 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 2:

uh yes it is what is it gavin what is what is it that that you're doing she's

02:49:07 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 3:

she's just she's just somebody i work with and and that's it okay real cute

02:49:17 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 1:

By the way, when I asked who she was, you said, it's a friend that I've been seeing for the past couple of months. Or a friend that I've been seeing.

02:49:32 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to back it. Like, you can't walk, you can't get yourself out of this. Like, you just sound like an a**hole. Okay, well. like i hope that angela's listening to this right now did you know you're married

02:49:53 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

why do i feel like somebody's getting phone calls while we're talking who's getting

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 5:

calls right now. Texts. And texts.

02:50:04 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm not.

02:50:05 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 5:

So Gavin is. Is that who you sent the flowers to texting you or are you texting with her while we're on the phone?

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 2:

Why does that matter?

02:50:19 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, I think it does matter.

02:50:23 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 1:

He's gone.

02:50:25 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Hung up the phone. So So do we think he was texting her while...

02:50:32 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but his phone was blowing up.

02:50:33 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:50:37 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know what to say. Do you all have kids together? Yeah. Two daughters.

02:50:52 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 5:

Is this something that you can get through? I know it's so early to think about this, but with kids, I don't know how you do this.

02:51:03 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't really know. I mean, to be honest, I don't know right now.

02:51:13 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 5:

Hang on one second, okay? Just hang on, and we'll talk more.

02:51:18 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:51:31 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:51:33 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 1:

Live.

02:51:36 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. I would love to hear stories from those that have busted their significant other, cheating with a coworker. And why is it that it seems like it's getting more and more popular, that that's the thing that happens nowadays. I thought that it would become less popular with the amount of people that work mobily and work at home. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. And kind of to go back and listen to this one all over again and to hear his comments, and Shannon, you got him on that one about the way that he kind of referred to this person that he was sending the flowers to.

02:52:24 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

02:52:25 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 5:

um tc what's up tc it's mojo in the morning war of the roses your thoughts hi tc good day good day

02:52:33 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 3:

02:52:48 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 5:

guy yeah apologize well he doesn't want him sent he because he doesn't want to screw up his a relationship with, what was her name? Amber or whatever, the person that he said? Angela. Angela.

02:52:59 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Angela. And tell Stacy I got a good lawyer because I'm post-one-year divorce, okay? She can get through it. She can get through it. Forget him. Like that.

02:53:09 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, TC. What's up, Adam? Hi.

02:53:12 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, Mojo. Yeah, no, I agree with the last caller. TC? Well, don't send the flowers. Exactly. Just kind of like he can take it back.

02:53:21 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 5:

that's what i was saying it's too late no i actually kind of give him a little credit on that though it's like all right in that case in that case here i don't want it anymore i don't want your your your free flowers just can't renege the flowers what's up how you doing there morgan i'm good how are you we're doing okay what are your thoughts mojo on the morning

02:53:45 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 4:

war of the roses i am absolutely livid i cannot believe this guy had the gall to blame her and say i can't believe you're doing this to me yeah that that was not a good thing to say like you deserve to be caught what do you mean we've had people do something similar to that

02:54:07 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 5:

where they'll like put put it on the person that like the spouse that's calling and be like you're embarrassing me or you're trying to make me look bad it's like yeah i try to turn it around

02:54:18 - 02:54:27 | Speaker 4:

what you do to my reaction of what you do to me is your fault yeah it it's something that i wonder

02:54:27 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 3:

if that's my reaction is based on what you do to me yeah right exactly here you go um i want to

02:54:35 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 5:

know i had to explain that to kev thank you shannon you're welcome i want to know if there anybody that's ever had this happen to them where they were with the person or went out in public with the person that they were their spouse was cheating with or their you know the boyfriend girlfriend husband and wife and they witnessed them acting weird around them like that was a wild thing that Stacey was telling.

02:55:00 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 3:

when she said, yeah, so we were there and he wouldn't let us be next to each other and then played it off like, I don't like this person.

02:55:08 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 2:

But then to find out that he liked every single one of her posts on social media.

02:55:14 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 3:

Which was a total red flag that got her to call us and do the War of the Roses. Initial B would like to be voice disguised. What's up, B?

02:55:22 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

02:55:24 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:55:25 - 02:55:43 | Speaker 1:

so about two years ago i caught my husband cheating with his co-worker and the way i found it was his phone went off at three in the morning and i rolled over and saw it was a naked picture of his co-worker

02:55:43 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 2:

what do you do in that moment you wake him up and just show him

02:55:49 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 1:

so i took the phone i ran in the bathroom i then found the whole history of their relationship and i went in and i threw the

02:56:02 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 2:

phone right at his head did he try to make any excuses or he knew he was it was too late

02:56:08 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 1:

um he initially was like what's going on i haven't done anything so initial denial and honestly to this day he denies that it was anything significant but are you guys still together we are oh damn why so we ended up separating for about two months lived separately we ended up going through some marriage counseling but i will tell you that the trust unfortunately is never 100 there yeah does he still work there no she ended up um in the text messages that i found i saw that she was suspended from work and he was really upset she wasn't at

02:56:52 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 4:

work one day and she ended up getting fired see she wanted him to get caught anytime your side piece sending naked text messages in the middle of the morning when you know i'm laying with my wife you think i'm about to leave her for you you trying to get me to break up that was definitely

02:57:08 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 3:

her intention uh lee that's crazy what's up lee it's mojo in the morning yo yo what's going on lee i want more than yo what's going on all right so i i'm a retired

02:57:24 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 5:

retired retired cheater yes retired okay some people grow up men do grow up don't act like we don't everybody i i don't want to say it's another radio host that's not y'all not y'all and he's still married and he's terrible so i'm retired and i'm still i'm i'm good

02:57:45 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 3:

but listen i gotta quick question for you do you get retirement benefits when you retire yes you do yes you do the aarp turns into the a a cheater p or something i don't know what are

02:57:59 - 02:58:48 | Speaker 5:

we supposed to listen to here yes yes okay look here we go so i was with my girlfriend we was working at a plant that was kind of far away from my house. 12-hour shifts. You know what I'm saying? So when I came home, it was a lot of nagging. So I'm like, okay, I got me a boo-boo at work. And it was a work boo. Don't act like they don't exist because they still do. Trust me, they do. And I don't mess around with them, nothing. But when I got caught, it was like an eight-hour shift. I went home. I was tired. Yeah, she went through my phone and beat me out my sleep like 20-piece chicken mcnugget like bing bing bing bing bing bing pow like woke me up so yeah okay it was it was a real drastic situation i'm here to tell the story thank god yeah you know so now did she did

02:58:48 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 3:

she after after she gave you to he was forced into retirement by that 20 piece mcnugget

02:58:52 - 02:58:58 | Speaker 4:

did she make you leave the job or what what ended up happening with the side piece or the

02:58:58 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 5:

No, no, that was good money. That was good money. So she wasn't doing that. Is she 20-piece me? I was, you know, a ham for like about three or four months. And, you know, trying to get that truck back, she dumped me. It was just like she ran that money up for a minute and then, yeah.

02:59:16 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 3:

You know what a ham is? No, what is a ham? Whole-ass man. Oh, okay. Yeah. I thought he would like beat like a ham like he got. No, that's interesting. I like that you explained that to me. I got you. All right. So, Lee, I like that you say that you're retired. You'll never do this ever again until the next hot piece of ass comes along at work.

02:59:38 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 5:

No, I work with a hot piece of ass right now. And you're not doing it. I don't even look at it. Don't even look at it. I've seen it before. I've seen it before. No more work boo-boos.

02:59:46 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 3:

After them nuggets, he went vegetarian. He was done with that. Interesting conversation there with Lee. What's up, Stacey? How you doing?

02:59:58 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm

03:00:00 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 3:

doing good i was calling in because the same thing that happened to caller stacy happened to me 10 years ago when my ex-husband was 36 cheated on me with his 19 year old co-worker wow and did you

03:00:16 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 1:

ever get around her like did you ever see her out and about oh yeah she actually um babysat our kids

03:00:25 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 3:

and that kind of thing.

03:00:27 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So, Wade, question. When she was around you, did he act funny around you?

03:00:34 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. There was, before he actually came clean and told me that there was something going on, there was definitely, like, a vibe or energy going on between them. Like, I found out later on that he was just confiding in her, a 19-year-old, about all of our marital problems and how I was a mean, awful wife. That's gross. Et cetera.

03:00:56 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 1:

So when did it finally come out?

03:01:01 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 3:

So it went on, the infidelity went on for about a year before, like, we were officially, like, done. And I hadn't already filed for divorce. But it came out eight months later.

03:01:15 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 1:

And are they with each other right now?

03:01:19 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're still together. They got married three years ago, but she's 29 with a 46-year-old husband, so that's cool.

03:01:31 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, okay. Damn love. And how about you? Have you found love again?

03:01:38 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've been with my current partner for six and a half years, and we're doing really well. But I also went on to get my doctorate in psychology, and my dissertation was actually on healing and thriving as a single mom because of infidelity, because I was kind of tired of the women are just better and all that. So, like, I actually, that's my focus, my clinical focus. Wow.

03:02:06 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you this, though, because if they're still together and you all have kids together, do you ever come in contact with her when you make the switch with the kids? What is that like?

03:02:16 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 3:

it goes back and forth like sometimes we're actually pretty good and i communicate better with her than with my ex and sometimes she's just like a petty bitch oh that's fascinating yeah so it kind of depends on on different things like how things are going yeah i wonder if they

03:02:37 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 1:

listen to war of the roses on mojo in the morning if they'll hear you and go oh stacy called in

03:02:43 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm going to see them later today at my son's soccer game. Tommy said hi.

03:02:49 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, tell us what happens, okay?

03:02:52 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 2:

I will. And get our numbers. Shannon needs a babysitter.

03:02:56 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 1:

I do, I do, I do.

03:02:57 - 03:02:58 | Speaker 2:

This summer.

03:02:59 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 1:

03:03:37 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Online. Mojointhemorning.com.

03:03:41 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I have listed here on the program sheet, the program guide.

03:03:52 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 2:

The old run of show?

03:03:53 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 1:

I always love the program guides on cable. You guys don't have cable anymore, do you still, or no?

03:03:59 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 2:

I still got guide, though.

03:04:00 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 1:

I still have Xfinity, but I like the program guide where it just scrolls. Remember in the day we used to have to watch the scroll up?

03:04:09 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

Preview channel.

03:04:10 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if you guys remember this, but if you do, it will make me feel not so old. Do you remember when you would have to call to find out the times of movies, and it would be a recording, and you'd have to wait for your movie to come all the way back up?

03:04:24 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 2:

No.

03:04:25 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I do. It used to be that you would call the movie phone line, like you'd call for the movie theater, like Imagine Theater, to find out what time a movie was being shown. One of them was movie phone. It was. Mr. Movie Phone. Remember the old Seinfeld classic episode? and you would call and say that the movie you wanted to see was The Accountant 2 and it started with an A, so they would be on G movies and you'd have to wait until the A movies came back up again, so you'd have to listen to the thing. It sucked.

03:04:53 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 2:

And then my mom would be like, Shannon, did you get your laundry?

03:04:55 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I'd be like, do that! I know, you knew it. And then you'd have to wait.

03:05:00 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 6:

That's crazy. My earliest movie memory is my grandma, man, rest her soul, my dad's mom, Alice Irwin, she was the one that would take us to the movies whenever we would go over there, we being my sister and I. And before we went to the movies, we would go to the gas station or wherever and get a newspaper. And then that's where they would have the movie times. Oh, yeah. And that was the way, man, that's nostalgia for real. Now we got apps.

03:05:22 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that the best? Although, do you guys use any movie apps to go to the movie? That's what I do. Just imagine. Is Fandango still around? Yes. Because I used to use Fandango all the time before I got my in, my Paul Gland's secret card where I was able to get to go to movies and stuff. But Fandango, honestly, was my favorite. I loved it. I loved it for getting movies. I finally saw The Accountant 1. Phenomenal. You kept talking about The Accountant 2, and I'm like, God, I never saw The Accountant at all.

03:05:54 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Who's in that?

03:05:55 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 5:

Ben Affleck. He's fantastic. I'm not going to lie to you, Shannon. I think Ben Affleck is kind of a dud. It made me realize how good of an actor he is. That movie was so good. You should watch it. It really was good.

03:06:08 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 2:

Would I like it?

03:06:09 - 03:06:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I think you would love it. No, it's not scary, but it's suspenseful.

03:06:13 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 6:

It's always your first question when it comes to movies. Because if it's scary, I'm not watching it.

03:06:17 - 03:06:38 | Speaker 5:

No, it's really, really suspenseful. I loved it. I thought it was great. So a bunch of people want to go see The Accountant 2, and I'm like, well, I haven't seen The Accountant 1. and they're like, you have to go see The Accountant 1 because you wouldn't understand what the hell the story was if you went and saw The Accountant 2. Do I do trending news or a topic? Because it's late on the show. I only got four more minutes.

03:06:38 - 03:06:39 | Speaker 6:

Trending news, save the topic for tomorrow.

03:06:40 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 5:

All right, so I'll save it.

03:06:40 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 6:

I'll go with the wisdom.

03:06:42 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 5:

I will do trending stories, trending news here right now and get to some stories. I've got a couple stories that are pretty interesting. This story is trending today. Yesterday, you broke the news to everybody that former President Joe Biden announced that he has cancer. He has prostate cancer. And I was listening yesterday to the news, and they had a bunch of people that were on, and it wasn't like they were just offering the condolences to the family and stuff. A lot of people were questioning whether or not he had cancer while he was the president or even before he got elected president and never told anybody about it, including the networks that you would think would be more, I guess, pro-Joe Biden, like MSNBC had this guy on, this former doctor of President Obama and President Biden's.

03:07:38 - 03:07:55 | Speaker 4:

This prostate cancer has spread to the bone that he could have had it for up to a decade, but certainly it's likely, would it be fair to say, it's likely to have had this for at least several years?

03:07:56 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, more than several years. You don't get prostate cancer.

03:08:00 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 4:

Again, I just want to stop you. So this is not speculation. This is the morning show show on MSNBC. If you have prostate cancer that is spread to the bone, then he's most certainly, you are saying, had it when he was president of the United States.

03:08:15 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. He did not develop it in the last 100, 200 days. He had it while he was president. He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021.

03:08:28 - 03:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Wow, which is interesting because then it got Trump talking about it yesterday.

03:08:33 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 1:

This morning, former President Biden's cancer diagnosis is drawing new questions about his health while in the White House.

03:08:39 - 03:08:41 | Speaker 2:

I think people should try and find out what happened.

03:08:41 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 1:

President Trump called Biden's cancer diagnosis sad while appearing to cast doubt on Biden's

03:08:46 - 03:08:52 | Speaker 2:

doctors. Maybe it was the same doctor and somebody is not telling the facts. That's a big

03:08:52 - 03:09:07 | Speaker 1:

problem. Biden's team said doctors diagnosed him Friday with an aggressive form of prostate cancer after he experienced urinary symptoms and say the cancer had spread to the bones. President Trump now suggesting without evidence that the announcement was delayed.

03:09:08 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm surprised that it wasn't, you know, the public wasn't notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine, that's a long time.

03:09:16 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist who served in the Obama and Biden administrations, claim Biden's cancer has likely been active for many years.

03:09:25 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he's had this for many years, maybe even a decade, growing there and spreading.

03:09:32 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 1:

Biden's last physical as president was in 2024 when routine tests identified no new concerns. But medical records do not indicate whether he was given a PSA test, which detects prostate cancer. This all comes as Biden deflects criticisms sparked by a new book, Original Sin, which claims Biden's aides took steps to shield the public from his cognitive decline. Naomi Biden, the former president's granddaughter, slamming the book, calling it uninspired lies written by. irresponsible self-promoting journalist out to make a quick buck the guy who wrote the book too is jake tapper from uh cnn which is an interesting one too because he was one of the staunch defenders of president biden's staunch he was a big time defender which what would be the other no this is very newsy but he but he defended uh president biden's mental acuity i guess i have so many

03:10:26 - 03:10:49 | Speaker 3:

questions and so many thoughts about this if he did have cancer if he was diagnosed during his presidency wouldn't it have been in his best interest and i understand it's all about power but to to to battle and to take time i mean being the president is the most stressful job right so wouldn't you wouldn't that prompt you to want to step back and have somebody step up and

03:10:49 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 1:

also you can treat prostate cancer so you can actually treat it and be okay okay and so that's

03:10:55 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 3:

my other question and i i do know several people so i'm treating it i wonder if he was treating it but then why not be forthcoming with that information because i feel like people would

03:11:05 - 03:11:23 | Speaker 1:

rally around you i don't know if they would i think people think that i think people instantly would think of your health and wonder if you're they always list you know list the health of the president after they take their physicals and if they said hey he has prostate cancer i think people would be like holy crap you know what i mean like how do you run for president when you

03:11:23 - 03:11:37 | Speaker 2:

have you have cancer how how was it when reagan because i'm googling trying to figure out if any other presidents any other presidents had it while they were sitting it said reagan had colon and skin cancer during his presidency like do you remember how that was handled i don't

03:11:37 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 1:

remember was it in the first term or second term because i guess if it's in this if it's in the first time it came in 85 so there was a second term then so that's because he was elected in 80 and then 84 i think that uh so i think in the second term i think people probably look at it as okay they're treating it but i think i don't know if you get re-elected if you'll yeah that's an issue yeah um this story is a big story did you hear the story about the wnba star having an affair with the married ceo of the team so wnba star sophie cunningham oh my god look at her has been accused has been accused of having an affair with the ceo of the phoenix suns and the phoenix mercury this guy josh uh bartelstein uh who is married to a woman named sydney this is the uh interesting situation it all came out in a lawsuit filed by a current employee of the sons who is also the director of the security of the team i guess the situation came out in his lawsuit and i don't know if that maybe he was covering up for this affair or covering up for this guy and uh he's suing the team and the ownership in saying that he's been discriminated against but he's using their affair as his hot take to bring out in his lawsuit but how did how

did the affair discriminate how did that play into him being discriminated against well i think he

03:13:09 - 03:13:41 | Speaker 1:

He said that the situation garnered attention due to the high-profile nature of both individuals and that it was stress on him as being the head of security for the organization. But Cunningham now is a teammate of Kaitlyn Clark in place for the Indiana team, the Indiana Fever. So this is pretty interesting. How tall is Sophie Cunningham? I'm looking at a picture of her. She's walking into a game, and she looks like she's very, very tall. Could you date a woman that's very tall?

03:13:41 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm here. I'm climbing all trees. She's 6'1".

03:13:44 - 03:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Kaitlin Clark, by the way, how about that game over the weekend? Triple-double, boy. Chicago Sky. Kaitlin Clark. Oh, by the way, the Indiana Fever fans are being called out now, just like the fans got called out that were playing. Who was Golden State playing again in the last series? The Timberwolves. The Minnesota fans. Minnesota Timberwolves fans were being called racist for the comments that they were saying to Draymond Green. Now the Indiana Fever's fans are being called racist, too, for comments that they were saying to, what's her name from the sky? Angel Reese. So the NBA, WNBA is investigating both those.

03:14:23 - 03:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Like fans screaming it during games on social media? Well, the fans in the stands. Or none of it appropriate.

03:14:28 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever heard fans in the stands scream racial stuff? No, not here in Detroit. I haven't heard anything, but this isn't news in terms of NBA fans who have, you know, access to really good seats, court-sized seats. This has been a long-standing thing. Dropping racial slurs? I hear Utah is a pretty bad place.

03:14:46 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 1:

Really?

03:14:46 - 03:14:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. A lot of players have talked about Utah.

03:14:49 - 03:14:54 | Speaker 1:

Kaitlin Clark, by the way, has done something interesting. Kaitlin Clark has taken sides.

03:14:54 - 03:14:56 | Speaker 2:

Nike athletes are building something special.

03:14:57 - 03:15:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't really get too starstruck from people. And that was like a moment that I was like, she talks about meeting LeBron. I knew I was going to meet him when I was coming to the game. And that's like one of my idols, like LeBron is the goat to me. So I don't know, it was just like a crazy moment where I got to meet him in the back and for him to go out of his way and like wish me luck on the season. And he really does follow the WNBA and he watches and he loves and appreciates basketball. And he loves and appreciates the way the fever of my teammates play.

03:15:23 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 5:

Kaylin, you should have met Michael Jordan. He's even better. He's the better guy.

03:15:27 - 03:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Obviously, a lot of people had said it to me after the game. And I was like, oh, my gosh.

03:15:31 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 5:

You know, you heard that Michael Jordan, he doesn't like women playing basketball.

03:15:35 - 03:15:44 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to take away the focus from this very smart and intelligent basketball player, Caitlin Clark. I mean, she's a genius. And I think she knows her best.

03:15:45 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she knows her ball. By the way, Michael Jordan has been quoted as saying women's only role is in the kitchen. So I don't understand that. But that's your goat. That's your guy. And the Pope now has his own seat at a Major League Baseball stadium, a seat that's named after the Pope. Pope Leo, is it Leo XIV, I think it is?

03:16:06 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yep.

03:16:07 - 03:16:31 | Speaker 5:

Pope Leo XIV, who is from Chicago. We all know this story that he grew up south side of Chicago. He actually was a priest in the area. Then he became a cardinal, and now he's the Pope. He attended the 2005 World Series when the Chicago White Sox took on the Houston Astros. They have pictures of him at a game with a friend sitting in their seats. Now they call it the Pope seats.

03:16:31 - 03:16:59 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Here you see it. Pope Leo XIV forever enshrined at Rate Field right here at Section 140 where he and the Schmidt family sat in Game 1 of the 2005 World Series. The family talking with us today, and they can't believe the guy they knew as Father Bob is now the Pope. The Pope is a White Sox fan, and we have proof. Eddie Schmidt had no idea what this 20-year-old photo would end up meaning, as he sat there as a 5-year-old with his father and none other than Pope Leo XIV.

03:17:00 - 03:17:07 | Speaker 3:

When all this transpired, I looked back and I said, is that the Pope next to me? And sure enough, it was.

03:17:07 - 03:17:48 | Speaker 7:

Eddie's grandfather is the man who was close friends with Pope Leo as they grew up together as Southsiders at St. Rita. The family has owned season tickets since 1977, and they often invited the Pope to the game where he sat in seat two of row 19 in section 140. The White Sox now plan to permanently commemorate that seat. Pope Leo's hometown and Dalton also planning to honor him, meeting tonight to approve a street being named in his honor. Now, the ironic part here is the Schmidt family tells us they almost sold these season tickets just before this season. It's been in their family for generations, but now with this news, safe to say they'll be holding on to those.

03:17:48 - 03:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Let's see how close the Pope is to God because the White Sox are so bad. He may be the only person that can turn that franchise around. Pretty interesting, though. I like how they're embracing it. There's been rumors that the Pope may do an American tour. It would be the first time I believe that this tour would have happened. What does that mean? Pope John Paul II, that he would go to different cities and have masses in big arenas or outdoor stadiums. Like an heiress tour? Kind of like the heiress tour. Yeah, kind of like the Beyonce heiress tour. Exactly. But it was wild. Back, I think it was. Jesus, bro.

03:18:23 - 03:18:30 | Speaker 2:

I remember when John Paul, he came several times, I think. It was big. To the States, because I remember my grandma talking about it that time. Spread the gospel on here for it, Pope.

03:18:30 - 03:19:02 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Leo. It's actually pretty interesting. They say that since Pope Francis died, that the amount of people Googling how to convert to Catholicism has gone up drastically. So it's pretty wild to see how many people have become interested in this because of the whole Pope process. I don't know. Sometimes people, you know, don't understand the process. I actually found it weird at church when they announced, you know, they do the, you know, who is our archbishop and then they do in Pope Leo. It was weird to hear that in church. So it was like weird.

03:19:02 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 2:

Because Leo also does not sound like such a formal, heavy name. It sounds like a little kid.

03:19:08 - 03:19:36 | Speaker 5:
