00:00:24 - 00:00:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:26 - 00:00:29 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo.

00:00:30 - 00:00:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:00:54 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 4:

Good to have you guys here with us. We're going to start off with a little bickering between me and Kevin, and I know it doesn't sound like it's anything different than what you probably just heard, but I will say this to you guys. I'm deeply offended. Sitting here in the studio, I walk into the studio. I come in early. I've been in here earlier than I have been in time past because I'm trying to get things situated with one arm here. And Kevin walks into the studio this morning, not like you did, Shannon, where you walked in and go, good morning and you know then right or uh what's her name uh lydia walks in and says uh you know hey moj you know and then bianca uh walks in hey you look good today uh so cap walks in and goes man what's that smell and i'm like what's this i knew i didn't do anything at all i knew i did there was nothing that came out of my uh my backside um and he's like oh man smells like a lot of cologne and i'm like what are you talking about he's talking about me yeah i don't think

00:02:03 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 5:

i didn't say it was a lot of cologne and we're not about to make this story in a way that makes me look crazy so this happened look this happened yesterday because today i came in and i didn't say anything even though i smelled it i came in yesterday i was like damn it's some i probably did say it like how did i think about it i said what's i might i don't remember what i said what's that smell, something. It was a strong scent of cologne, that's all I'm saying.

00:02:26 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 4:

You did not say it in a good way. I didn't say it was

00:02:28 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 5:

bad, though, because you asked. You was like, does it stink? You know, it was not, Max. You said, did it stink? Does it smell? And I was like, I don't think it's either way. It's just noticeable.

00:02:41 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 1:

That's all I said. He does have a very distinct smell. When you walk in his studio, you smell the cologne. Is it too much? It's also his laundry detergent. Whatever Chelsea uses, I actually, I like it.

00:02:51 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 4:

Kevin gave me the, ah, like, you know how when somebody doesn't like something, their nose goes up and goes, eh, like, you know, it's kind of like the I just smelled somebody fart, you know, smell.

00:03:05 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 1:

If I can taste it, it's too much. And there's somebody who works here, and we've talked about this before.

00:03:10 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:03:11 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 1:

And she wears way too much, and I can taste it. Yeah. Like, when she walks by.

00:03:15 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 4:

And hers is kind of musky, too, right?

00:03:16 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 5:

Hers is yuck.

00:03:17 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. It's yuck. Not musk, it's yuck.

00:03:20 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, my intention wasn't to make you feel self-conscious or to make it seem like your smell wasn't desirable. It was just very noticeable when I walked in the studio. Listen. And that hasn't been the past.

00:03:31 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Maybe if you shower more than how many times a week, Kevin? What does my showering have to do with how you smell? Because you have openly said on this show that you shower twice a week or something. You don't shower all the time. Again, what does my showering have to do with the way you smell? Because maybe you're smelling yourself. That's not it. Maybe the reason my smell is so pungent to you is because sometimes I throw in a little Dior.

00:03:54 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 5:

You do? I don't feel like I've ever smelled Dior. You smell Dior. You told me I smell nice. Really? Oh, hold on a second. Who comes out here right now? What's going on? I wear just the right amount. Okay.

00:04:07 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:08 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, you got to get up on me in order to smell it. I don't spray enough to where I walk in a room and it's like, oh my God, somebody has

00:04:15 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 4:

Cologne on it. I'm very offended. I'm offended because I feel like I'm being called out right now by Kevin.

00:04:22 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 1:

How many sprays do you do?

00:04:23 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 4:

I do two sprays, and I don't walk into my sprays. I do a spray on my clothes, and I do a spray on my neck.

00:04:30 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 5:

That's what I do. Always spray on the body. I never spray on the clothes. Yeah.

00:04:33 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

I do the clothes because you never know, you know, if the clothes are going to get stinky later in the day. You're going to start getting that. I've been wearing them for a while. Smell.

00:04:41 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes I spray on the top of my head, like in my hair. Really? Well, because, one, your hair, like, keeps that smell. But also, I'm so short that I want to make, like, if somebody hugs me, then I get a little, a good little whiff. I never thought about that.

00:04:53 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 4:

When I was younger, I was told to spray. So then where do I spray if I'm tall? Your balls. Yeah, there you go. Spray, right. in the belly button i'm right about to there when i was younger i was told to spray like on the inner wrist where the pulses are and they're rubbing like on the pulses around your neck so

00:05:08 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 5:

it like pulsates out the the cosmetic counters in the mall they always do that they'll always spray they'll spray it on that little piece of paper but they'll also hey let me give you something and they'll put it on the wrist for you lynn what's going on i'm i'm being called out for

00:05:20 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 6:

being the stinky kid in school what's happening good morning everybody good morning um so i work at a local thrift store um it was a means to be uh unnamed uh we were doing a store opening and this little kid walks in with his mom and he's going mom mom mom and she's what it smells like

00:05:45 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

grandma and grandpa in here thrift stores do have that smell that musty smell mom mom mom It was so funny.

00:05:55 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 5:

Do you guys ever get stuff sent into your thrift store, like people donate and you can't take it because the smell is so bad?

00:06:02 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. Yes, that goes to the wayside.

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 5:

Is it body odor, you think, that's the smell you guys can't get out?

00:06:11 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 6:

You know, for me, actually, I lost my smell during COVID. Oh, okay. So, thankfully, one of our other store processors, She has the nose for smelling.

00:06:24 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Angel from our sales department lost her sense of smell. And one time we were out somewhere and I go, oh, my God, it smells horrible. And Angel's like thinking I'm thinking about her. And it's not, you know, but it was something that we walked into. She couldn't smell a thing and it was bad. It smelled like raw sewage.

00:06:39 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 4:

No wonder she gives that long of a hug to some people.

00:06:43 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

Right, she can't smell anybody. What's up, Katie? How you doing?

00:06:46 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Did you put on your Brazilian bum bum cream? Yes.

00:06:50 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I love that smell, that Sol de Janeiro. That's all Lucy wears. It's the best. It is the best smell.

00:06:57 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:06:57 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 6:

It's so good. I'm going to be putting it on this morning.

00:07:00 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. That's funny. Bum bum cream. That is so funny. So I've never tried it, or maybe I haven't. I just don't know what it is.

00:07:08 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 6:

How could you have not tried it? Shannon and Joe went on and on about that years ago. I ended up buying it because they went on and on about it. It was Ellen.

00:07:15 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Ellen wears it.

00:07:17 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Brazilian.

00:07:18 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 2:

I've bought it ever since.

00:07:19 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Brazilian bum bum cream.

00:07:20 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

And now they have body sprays. They have like 12 different kinds. They've really expanded their product length.

00:07:26 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 6:

But the purple one's good too.

00:07:28 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 5:

I remember when I coached middle school basketball, it was just Axe that I would walk into. Like we'd walk into the locker room at Abbott Middle School and I'd walk in there and it was literally body odor or Axe. That was all you smell. And those kids would all wear it. Is that a thing still for the middle school kids?

00:07:48 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Everyone smelled the same, though, back then, I remember.

00:07:50 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Every girl in middle school smelled like teen spirit deodorant. We all had the same deodorant, and so when we were changed for gym class, like that's all you smelled, I remember.

00:08:00 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 5:

I have a cologne thief in my house now that Luke is back from school. Luke stole my cologne. He steals everything. My cologne, my deodorant, my toothpaste. I can't use a razor anymore. So if I shave, I have to look at the razor before I shave because he uses my razor and then I get chopped up because he's like you know doing it does Lucy yet? Is she starting to use

00:08:23 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 2:

any of your stuff? Lucy doesn't shave Wes has his own razor although so Smith shares a bathroom with Wes and I and last night he was he was showering and I came in and he looked very guilty and I was like what are you doing and he's like he had my razor in his hand and I'm like what are you doing with my razor and he's like sometimes I like to shave my body mom I'm like Smith please like you're not you are supposed to have hair okay so like if you have hair on your legs that's okay but those legs are smooth as a butt right now does he ever use your like expensive shampoo as

00:08:55 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 5:

body wash because chelsea used to always yell at the boys yes because he makes potions while he's

00:09:00 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 2:

showering so now i have a shelf that he's allowed to you it's like all the stuff that i pick up at a hotel you know all the little like travel toiletries so i throw tons of those in the shower so he can make his potions he is not allowed to touch anything else that's funny

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Derek, what's up? Hi.

00:09:15 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo?

00:09:16 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 5:

Nothing much, buddy.

00:09:17 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

What's happening? No, I'm just listening to the radio, and Cass just said he showers twice a week.

00:09:25 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say that. Mojo said that. I ain't saying that.

00:09:27 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 5:

That's all he does. He shaves dirty showers.

00:09:29 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you tell these people one thing one time, and it becomes who you are for the rest of your life. Oh, I haven't forgotten it.

00:09:36 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

So, your new name is what? Dirty Cass? DK? DK?

00:09:39 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

I like DK, but they didn't stand for something else.

00:09:44 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 5:

He doesn't want to get ashy, Derek. He wants to make sure that he stays moisturized.

00:09:48 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I took a shower last night. That's all we need to talk about.

00:09:50 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hey, hey, look, look, look. I'm a brother that they get ashy skin themselves, but I definitely showered twice a day. Yeah, please. I like that.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

See you twice a day?

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay, sounds good on the radio. Twice a day. Come on. You know he does. He does.

00:10:04 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 3:

Hell no.

00:10:04 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, Derek.

00:10:05 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

He didn't even brush his teeth this morning.

00:10:06 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 4:

Come on, Derek. Have you brushed your teeth yet?

00:10:10 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. I just actually left work. I keep set at work.

00:10:13 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

See that? The most hygienic man in town right here. What a guy. We love you, Derek. Take care of yourself. Bye. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:10:21 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:10:24 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 4:

This was the year that tennis star Naomi Osaka gets her opponent's name wrong at the Australian Open.

00:10:32 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Do you like to be called Jenny or Jennifer?

00:10:38 - 00:10:38 | Unknown:

Jenny.

00:10:38 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Firstly, I want to congratulate Jennifer. We played in the semis.

00:10:44 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 4:

Abbott Elementary. I was talking about Abbott Middle School. Abbott Elementary premiered. We said the new one. Oh, a new one? What's this one? I think Vince Vaughn starred in the movie. Oh, okay. Not Abbott Elementary. Vince Vaughn starred in Queen Pins.

00:10:56 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 3:

I've come too far.

00:10:57 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 4:

I hear everything you're saying.

00:10:59 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 3:

You don't s*** in the car, Kenny. Just don't. You don't s*** in the car. It's a rental. You pay a cleaning fee. Everybody moves on. It's a rental that I rented. Most people wouldn't even tell me that they had this s***. They just would make up an excuse and they'd get out of the car, okay? You're a grown man. What year was it? Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:11:20 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548.

00:11:25 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:11:28 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon with our first Dirty in the Morning. What's going on, Shannon?

00:11:30 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, Haley Bieber is defending her marriage in the newest issue of Vogue. She's also on the cover, addressing all of the public scrutiny that's been going on for quite some time now, despite the couple just celebrating their seven-year wedding anniversary, the recent birth of their son, Jack Blues. She tells Vogue, you'd think after having a child, people would maybe move on, but no. She also opened up about the challenges of postpartum life, describing it as a quote-unquote mind F. She credited Justin for his unwavering support, noting his experience with fame helped her manage media scrutiny of herself. Justin also making the dirty this morning for posting and then deleting a congrats to his wife for making the cover of Vogue. And in the caption, so he posts her cover, which is beautiful, of course. But he told this story in the caption about this huge argument that they once got into, during which he made a comment that she would never, ever get on the cover of Vogue. And he wrote, he only made that comment to her because he was mad and wanted to get even. And now he said he's apologizing because look what he did. If you go back and look, now that caption is just a bunch of emojis. It doesn't tell that story anymore. I think he got in a little bit of trouble.

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

I appreciated the honesty, JB.

00:12:46 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 1:

I mean, Jordan Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of UNC head coach Bill Belichick, has told at least one person that the couple is engaged. Now, I said this to you guys like two weeks ago because she was wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger at a luncheon that they attended the week before last. But they have made no official public announcement that they are planning to get married.

00:13:10 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

He's making his family crazy.

00:13:12 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

don't you think bill belichick by doing this absolutely and then did you hear the story that's making the rounds this morning about jordan hudson and bill belichick's ex no at the christmas party in nantucket okay so this is straight out of a soap opera according to people who were there bill belichick's ex her name is linda holiday confronted jordan at this christmas party she was pissed jordan was there her daughters were actually performing at this event which was kind of adding you know insult to injury security footage reportedly shows linda and her friends confronting jordan in the middle of the dance floor and jordan was like look i'm here to enjoy the party i'm here with bill i'm also here to support my friend melissa sapini who is miss massachusetts at the time linda even threatened that that friend that pageant queen at the party warning her if you value your current title you should think twice about who your friends are insinuating that she's got some hookups in the pageant world or something. It was a showdown.

00:14:10 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 4:

It's congeniality. I met Bill Belichick's wife, went to a Pistons game, and they were playing the Boston Celtics, and Bill Belichick was there with his wife, and I was hanging out with Pistons PR guy, Kevin Griggs. Shout out KG. And this extremely kind of blonde, I wouldn't say hot, but like bombshell blonde, with big old boobies was there and it was Belichick's wife. And we were standing there and I go, oh, you know, hey, I wonder if she's a Pistons fan. No, she wasn't a Pistons fan. She was a Bill Belichick fan, but not anymore.

00:14:46 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Did any of you guys watch the show Seventh Heaven back in the day? Seventh Heaven. I loved that show. Well, it's coming back. A reboot currently in early development and Jessica Biel who starred in the original series

00:15:00 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 3:

is executive producing this thing. The new show going to focus on a diverse family. None of the original cast members are coming back. She's not going to be a part of it as well, just behind the scenes. Yeah. Lastly, this is a wild story straight out of Ohio. A 24-year-old guy from Venezuela is sitting in his butt in jail this morning on forgery charges. He pretended to be a teenager at Perrysburg High School.

00:15:26 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Perrysburg. You guys see that one from back in?

00:15:28 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 2:

In Perrysburg, students are wrapping up their last week of school. Some students and parents not thinking about summer, but instead the 24-year-old man who allegedly walked these halls posing as a typical teenage student.

00:15:42 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 1:

I would think as a parent that would be really shocking and scary to hear about.

00:15:47 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 5:

The guy's mug shot. He looks like he's a 24-year-old.

00:15:50 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 2:

The city council candidate said she found out about everything after Anthony Emanuel Labrador Sierra's court appearance.

00:15:56 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 1:

I think, just like everybody else, I have a lot of questions about how he was able to obtain those documents, and so hopefully we get some answers about that.

00:16:05 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 2:

Police allege that Labrador Sierra duped the high school by providing a false birth certificate. Records show that once the man was enrolled in school and matched with guardians, from there he acted like he was just one of the teenagers, including joining school sports. Police found pictures of Labrador Sierra when he was in a Perrysburg soccer uniform. His appointed guardians confirmed to officers that he played for the school. This roster shows he was also a member of the swim team. I spoke to one parent who knows Labrador Sierra. They did not want to go on camera. I was told that Labrador Sierra competed in events, worked out with his teammates, and dated girls in the high school. City council members say there is still much they don't know, and authorities are still investigating.

00:16:48 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 3:

It's the movie. It's the Drew Barrymore movie, Never Been Kissed. Did you ever see that? I've never seen it. Is that it? She pretends to be a high school student because I think the story was she was a writer and she was writing about teenage culture or something, so she pretended to be a student at her old high school.

00:17:03 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I'm going to tell you guys something. If I'm a parent, I'm pissed. Oh, I'm pissed. And you've got a 24-year-old dating a bunch of teenage girls, and then I think that the Ohio State Athletic Association has got to look at all of those games and sports that he played in, and they've got to be forfeited because you can't have a 24-year-old playing. He better have been better than the other kids, though. Can you imagine? He can't be 24 and be trash, though. He was like the guy from Ted Lasso. I know what you're talking about.

00:17:33 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 3:

Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Jonathan says here you're from New Baltimore. You work for Amazon.

00:18:57 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I'm mad at you right now. You didn't deliver my package yesterday. My kids need it for school today. Now I had to cancel the order.

00:19:03 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 4:

And it's all your fault, Jonathan. Buddy. I'm sorry. He's not your guy, though. I'm probably listening to the show and not paying attention.

00:19:13 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 5:

The guy's in New Baltimore, though. Don't blame him.

00:19:16 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 3:

It says it's floating around in Wixom at the moment.

00:19:18 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? He, by the way, does the early morning shift. He does 2 a.m. till 6 a.m. Is that right? Generally, yeah.

00:19:26 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm usually home. I'm getting home as everybody's waking up and getting the kids off. I got my little guy here now. Of course, they want to be chatty when you're in the home.

00:19:34 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 5:

00:21:32 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 3:

Question number three. Tom Cruise very awkwardly responded to questions about Father's Day in an interview this week. What is his daughter's name that he shares with actress Katie Holmes? Eerie. You know what? It's Surrey, but I'll take it.

00:22:19 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Three to one. You knew it. Question four.

00:22:20 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 1:

California.

00:22:34 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 1:

No, both of you guys said that. No, New York. And question number five, Katy Perry is scolding a fan for DMing her actor husband. Who is her actor husband?

00:22:47 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 2:

Orlando Blue. Yes.

00:22:48 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 3:

He's rolling.

00:22:52 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 1:

Josh is rolling. Daddy's rolling, my friend. What's your son's name again, Josh?

00:22:59 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 2:

Jackson. We're actually Triple J today.

00:23:02 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 1:

Triple J. We got, who else is there? Or you mean talking about Jonathan too?

00:23:06 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, with Jonathan. Okay. All right.

00:23:09 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 1:

All right. I like it. By the way, thank you to Tabooli, the restaurant that we're giving away some gift cards to this week as the 5 of 655 prize. Jonathan, you got a parting gift. Josh, we're back tomorrow with you, my friend.

00:23:20 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 2:

00:23:27 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 1:

I'll both you guys sleep.

00:23:28 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. If you would like to be on 5 Lies to Tell Your Mom, we are going to get you on. Text MOM to 95500, and we'll have some fun with her. 5 Lies this morning here on the show.

00:23:42 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings.

00:23:43 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 2:

5 Lies. 5 Lies. Sweet. 5 Lies to Tell Your Mom.

00:23:48 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 1:

John, what's happening? Another day. I like it. Let's live life like it's another day on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. That's right. You ready for this? Yep. I'm excited, yes. You may not live another day after this Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. We're going to come up with...

00:24:04 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 2:

No, I really think she's going to murder me and my sister's husband at the same time, to be honest.

00:24:09 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you're okay. I like this. Five Lies. We've made up Five Lies. I want the listeners to think Guy lives today. We're Garden City, Michigan, right? Yep, yep. Your mom is a little bit of a hoarder, we understand.

00:24:23 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 2:

She's got that problem, but it's a working progress is what I'm going to say.

00:24:29 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 1:

All right, so we have an idea for her. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I'm having a garage sale next weekend. Lie number two.

00:24:37 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 3:

Say Nick wants me to come over and take some stuff out of the house.

00:24:41 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Lie number three. I don't want you there for any of it. Lie number four, Nick says, you're an old hoarder ho. Quote, unquote. Okay? Wow. And lie number five.

00:24:57 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 3:

We already have somebody to buy all.

00:25:00 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 2:

of the Beanie Babies. Is that a thing? Is that really? Yeah, my mom's got a whole bunch. She's been collecting them ever since they were huge, like, you know, 30 years ago. So these are her prized possessions. I mean, I would say more, like, precious moments are, but I know she's got totes of them, so to take something from her and tell her, like, oh, someone already put a deposit down for herself. She's going to freak out. Oh, yeah. Okay.

00:25:27 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. Five lies tell your mom. speak up nice and loud.

00:25:41 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

00:25:43 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Ma. What's going on? Nothing. You busy? No, what do you need? Nothing. I wanted to ask you some questions. Me and Aaron have been talking about what we're going to do this week and the next weekend. And we were talking about having a garage sale.

00:25:59 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 3:

are you okay with that absolutely i i have to friday morning i'm supposed to be going to ann farbs to work well it's it's fine i don't want you saturday night i have the bull and sunday

00:26:11 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 2:

we're going to the dean mom you don't have to do any of it i don't want you part of it all me and erin kind of have a whole plan involved about what we're going to do yeah that's fine that's fine um i was talking to nick last weekend when i came over about how i was working on my car and stuff and uh he told me i can come over and take some stuff in the house he's got stuff and he figured uh you would be okay with it and uh you wouldn't have a problem with it for what like stuff to sell the garage sale like all your garage sale stuff are you crazy i'm having a garage sale john i don't have a job are you having one are you having one next weekend i have stuff too that's what i said i know you typically do it on memorial weekend uh but yeah Like I said, you don't need to be there. I don't want you to hurt yourself. You don't push yourself. Don't worry about it. I'll take care of everything. I don't mind coming and hanging out, but, you know. No, I don't need you. It's okay. I'll let you know if I do, but I'll be fine.

00:27:10 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:27:11 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 2:

So, on that note, you know, me and Nick were making a joke, and he mentioned that he, I figured you'd wanted to know, he basically called you an old hoarder hoe. Yeah.

00:27:30 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 3:

You know, you're like, what? That's how I make my money, honey. That's, you know, now I don't have, I can't take care of that baby anymore. I know, I know.

00:27:37 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 2:

You're disabled and you got, I know, and you're not babies. Yeah, I understand that. I understand money. I totally get that.

00:27:43 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 3:

And I'm having a big sale at Uncle Jim's the first Saturday, the first weekend in June.

00:27:47 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 2:

All right. So my other question to you is, you still got a whole bunch of beanie babies? Because I got a guy, Aaron's friend, someone from work, I don't know. is looking for them for his kid, and I knew you had, like, totes of them, so he already, like, gave them a hundred bucks. Yeah, but I don't know where they are.

00:28:01 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 3:

I don't have totes of them anymore. You don't? What? I don't have totes of them anymore. I sold a lot of them, but I do have some.

00:28:09 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and Jennifer told me that you had something, like, in the basement or something. I don't know.

00:28:13 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 3:

There's so much shit in the basement, John. You can't even f***ing move. I don't even know what's down there.

00:28:18 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, my friend. Because I can't get anything. It's ridiculous. You know, that's why I just wanted to know, because...

00:28:25 - 00:28:37 | Speaker 3:

That's why I'm at work, and I got everybody else's s*** at my house. Well, you don't have any of my stuff. No, I don't mean yours. His wife, his two kids, you know.

00:28:39 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, you do tend to go to other, like, help out other people and bring home stuff always, but that's besides the thing.

00:28:46 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Because I always have to have stuff to have a garage sale, right, John? Who are you calling? Because you need stuff for a garage sale. Guess what, Jack? You've got it.

00:28:54 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 2:

That's true. That's true.

00:28:56 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 3:

You can't have a lot of shell if you don't have sh**. So if you're going to donate it, I take it first and try and sell it, and then I donate it. But I keep the good sh**. Because you've got to have sh** to sell sh**. Believe me, I've got this sh**. So it's pretty sure you can have some stuff.

00:29:12 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 1:

You got it. You got that sh**, don't you? Too much sh**. Lots of sh**. So much sh**, you don't know what to do with it all. No.

00:29:23 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 3:

Who am I talking to?

00:29:25 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how you doing, Jacqueline? This is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning.

00:29:30 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:29:32 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 1:

And you had, your son, John, had you on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. Five Lies to Tell Mom, okay. I think we got a professional garage sailor here. She's not a hoarder, ho. She's a professional garage sailor.

00:29:51 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

That's right. All my life, I have been a single mom, and I work for the school, so you're off in the summer, and you've got to make money.

00:30:00 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 5:

And a smoker, I understand, probably, right? No.

00:30:09 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 4:

She got a mouth like a sailor, too.

00:30:12 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 6:

I'm not. I don't normally. I don't talk like that. You ask my son, he'll tell you.

00:30:16 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sure. We don't know.

00:30:19 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 6:

I have to defend myself when people call me a hoarder. I'm not a hoarder, but believe me, I got to sh** myself.

00:30:25 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 2:

hey mom we got a prize for mom for being on five lies to tell your mom we just want to know is it going to make it at your garage you guys should come to my garage so you know people stop i live

00:30:38 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 6:

I like it. Well, congratulations.

00:31:01 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 6:

Everybody drives up and down the street.

00:31:03 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations on winning the prize here. We'll set you up with that, okay? That's great. Thanks.

00:31:09 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Mornings.

00:31:12 - 00:31:12 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:31:13 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:31:15 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 4:

today is kind of a big day in shannon's husband wes's life it's his son's last day of high school

00:31:29 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 1:

yeah oh wow you want to know what's so funny is um last night wes was like really really emotional coming off of a day of me being emotional fifth grade and he's like i'm my son's literally going way to college and it's so funny because his name is kieran shout out kieran go lutheran north um and go green because he's going to state a lot of things go white yeah um but kieran's like yeah it's my last day like he doesn't care he's like just get me the heck out of here i texted him this morning i'm like last day like made a sign last night we you know everybody wrote in a card and signed a card and he's just like i just want to finish school he does he is there's no emotion

00:32:07 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't think they're see I think it's emotional for the parents but I also think secretly that the kids are emotional they just don't maybe show it to us that's what Wes said he's like I think

00:32:17 - 00:32:33 | Speaker 1:

that it will really hit him over the next two weeks of having a last day of school and then they have a bunch of different activities he has you know his last track meet I think in there and then of course graduation the actual ceremony on June 1st it's gonna hit him at some point in

00:32:33 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 5:

there for sure you know where i found it to be emotional like i thought that with uh ball three of the boys was they got emotional after graduation when they all hung out out in front of school and they realized that that was it like they were done like they got their caps and gowns on and they're taking pictures and the boys all smoke cigars and stuff like that really yeah it was

00:32:53 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 1:

cool it was pretty cool especially in situations i think where you've been with the same essentially the same group of kids since kindergarten yes and now all of a sudden you all are going your separate ways and you don't realize the creature comfort of always well traveling as a group from

00:33:06 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 5:

grade to grade school to school the other thing too is they're gonna see each other a ton this summer because they're gonna be going to all their grad parties yeah so that's kind of a big deal too but then they they had their after party like i remember that it was like that school hosted a party for them that's cool and they went there and i remember luke saying that when he pulled away from that he was exhausted because it was an all-nighter but then he said he felt something about you know man that's kind of wild it's my last time going to the school so west was a mess

00:33:30 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 1:

last night we were sitting in bed and i was doing my topics for the show and he was going through all of his pictures over the years because he wanted to make a an instagram post today for karen like a reel and so he kept showing me his phone and he's like look at this picture his first hockey game and look at this picture his first track meet and oh my god look at we tailgated at michigan state you know when he was three years old how funny how how full circle is that the whole time he's showing me all these photos i'm not even looking at kieran to be honest with you i'm looking at wes in these photos you guys i would have never dated this man had we met what in these different phases of his life not wes has he changed a lot oh he's i mean we've all had a glow up, but Wes has had a glow up. Was it hair? Was it body? It was everything, Kev. Describe it to him. From his clothes to his hair. Because I look at him

00:34:30 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 5:

and I see nothing but he's like male model.

00:34:34 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 1:

So he went through a stage where he called himself Fat Wes, where he was working at Quicken. He was a total workaholic and he was going out and grabbing drinks all the time. he had like frosted tips and a little bit of a beer belly and oh my god so I was laughing so hard at some of those and then when he was years later got healthy and was training training excuse me for American Ninja Warrior. he had these huge muscular arms and shoulders and i'm like that is not attractive to me either and he was so offended but i said i if you would have asked me out then like if our paths would have crossed then heck no shannon is so shallow i am so shallow how i and he's like that was a great movie let's look at it was a great movie let's look at some of your old pictures i'm like If you like, never mind.

00:35:25 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Shannon. I know. Show him. Why don't you show him the first promo shots of us here on this show.

00:35:32 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 4:

It was bad. You're like Goldilocks. It was bad. We all had a glow up. The hot bowl or the cold bowl, you liked them right in the middle.

00:35:38 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 1:

The clothes, everything.

00:35:40 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 3:

Is this ever happened in your life, like where you are, you know, with somebody right now, and then you look back at their past, and you look at their pictures from maybe when they were in high school or who knows uh and then you go oh my god like yeah you can do it right now

00:35:58 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 4:

especially with people who don't archive images on their instagram like there are some people who want to maintain this aesthetic they want you to only see who they are today yeah but then there are some people you can scroll and scroll and scroll and go back to like the beginning of

00:36:10 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 1:

instagram and you can see oh you can see mine i mean i have jersey shore hair 100 i will call

00:36:16 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 3:

myself out 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number i've been with my wife so long she's been with me through every single stage i figure that that's when i know that there's true love there's not this shallow shannon over here you know with her looking at west it's funny because i saw one picture of west from the past i think he showed it to me when we were talking about the fact that he said that he had you know he had been uh heavier and i looked at him like holy crap like he really and actually i'll be honest with you with him you know when he got when he started graying is when i uh it's like wow this guy's like look at this guy you know because he you look at him now he's all chiseled and stuff like i hate every bit of him you know what i mean wears nice clothes and stuff like guys like him make me sick because you see him wearing a suit and this suit is so perfect on him and then you see a guy like me wearing a suit and And I look like a guy that should be, you know, the before picture.

00:37:14 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 1:

You guys know one of my pet peeves is sunglasses on the hat rim. Oh, no. Or like sunglasses on the back of your head. There were so many pictures. Really? Well, he was an East Sider. Who? Well, he was Canadian. I mean, he's Canadian. But then, yeah.

00:37:29 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 3:

But he also lived on the East Side. That's an East Side thing.

00:37:31 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 4:

He was everything you hated.

00:37:33 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 1:

Who are you?

00:37:34 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was.

00:37:34 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

Who did I marry?

00:37:36 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Molly? Molly, Shannon's rethinking her vows to Wes. For better or you...

00:37:42 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 1:

For better for what is that?

00:37:44 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:37:46 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning. I think we need to get the promo shots on IG or Facebook. Oh, yes. Let's go.

00:37:52 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 3:

We got to pull back the old promo shots from the history of the show just to look at. You see some really crazy stuff.

00:38:00 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 1:

My favorite of you, Mojo, is when you had your hair... Your hair was a little longer and you had it parted down the middle. It was so bad.

00:38:06 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 3:

What? You had a middle part? I had a goatee. I had a goat at one time. You had a white van, too? Molly, they wouldn't allow me to go do school visits for reading month because they thought I looked a little lester-y. What's going on, Kristen? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on? Hey, Kristen.

00:38:29 - 00:38:29 | Unknown:

Kristen.

00:38:31 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 3:

Kristen. Are you there? Kristen, it says here, it was the opposite from my husband. He isn't as hot as he don't know. Kristen, I want to talk to you. Where are you, Kristen?

00:38:42 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm mute. Oh, I'm still here. Hello?

00:38:44 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead. Say what you're saying. We've been talking to you for like five minutes here. Maybe it's God telling you you shouldn't say what you're about to say. What's going on?

00:38:52 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's not my name, so that's what I was going to say.

00:38:54 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, why didn't we call you Kristen then? Did you give us a fake name? I don't know.

00:38:58 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 2:

What is your name?

00:38:59 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what's going on? What's your name?

00:39:00 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 2:

I don't really want to say my real name anymore. She asked me to give her a fake one, and we went through that.

00:39:05 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 3:

It makes sense. Oh, okay. I'm sorry. Fake caller name. What's going on?

00:39:10 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 2:

So anyways, so my fiance's hot, but I see pictures of him before we got together like years ago, and he was way hotter.

00:39:25 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 3:

So are you worried that he's going to get only worse?

00:39:30 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

No. I don't think so. Yes, you are.

00:39:33 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 3:

It's like that car that's going to break down one day. You got to figure that thing out. You better get that thing maintained.

00:39:40 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to.

00:39:42 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 3:

What is it about him? Is it weight? Is it his looks? What is it?

00:39:48 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 2:

Yes. No, it's just, like, he's super fine, but. You know what they say?

00:39:53 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 3:

They say fat and happy. That's a real thing.

00:39:57 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

He's told me that before. He's like, it's your.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:44:05 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 8:

We're going to get a look at what's trending right now, Shannon and the Dirty on the 30.

00:44:09 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 5:

He was the TV character that my dad aspires to be in real life. George Wendt, best known as Norm Peterson on the beloved NBC comedy, Tears, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home yesterday. He was only 76 years old. So sad. Grew up in Chicago. He's a Chicago guy. Got his start in comedy at Second City. Went to Notre Dame for college.

00:44:32 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 3:

Let's say I majored in drinking beer and partying, right? Yeah. Okay. For example, and hanging around and talking about sports in a bar, right? Yeah. At Notre Dame, which is what I did. Yes. Making me probably the only person in the history of college education to actually major in school with what they did for a living. Yeah.

00:44:49 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that great?

00:44:50 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 8:

It's so great.

00:44:51 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so he had six straight Emmy Award nominations in a row for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on Cheers. Never won.

00:45:00 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:45:01 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 2:

Never won.

00:45:02 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Man. You know what? Because he was always the supporting guy. And it's weird because I think that Woody Harrelson would always get the accolades more because his supporting role was more intense.

00:45:14 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:45:14 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 3:

You know, with what he was doing as the bartender.

00:45:16 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And then you and I were talking, because I didn't find this out until earlier this morning, and I think you said the same, that Jason Sudeikis is George Wendt's nephew.

00:45:25 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:45:26 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 2:

So there's a tie there. And they just, yeah, they just worked on something together, too.

00:45:30 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they just did. So, you know, the old SNL skit, The Bears, where they all sit around and they go to the Bears. So, George Wendt starred in that one. Well, they reprised the The Bears just recently where they had Jason Sudeikis, George Wendt, and then they had Travis Kelsey being part of it. And listen to George Wendt's joke to Travis Kelsey.

00:45:50 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 1:

Guys, yeah, you're really pushing it. Oh, uh-oh. Okay. Uh-oh. Look who's losing it, just like he did in the Super Bowl.

00:46:01 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 3:

Giving him crap. You know what's wild? I was looking at the tribute that they did last night on Nightly News with the Lester Holt Show, and they did the tribute to him, and they talked about how there was never beer in his glass.

00:46:15 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really?

00:46:16 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he would never actually drink beer while he was doing the show because they had so many scenes where you would have to drink, And he said if he were to have drank beer in there, he would have been wasted every single time.

00:46:30 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 2:

The latest with Diddy's trial. Today could be a huge day with a celebrity taking the stand. And I'll get to that in just a second. But yesterday, Regina Ventura, Cassie's mom, gave some really powerful testimony detailing the alleged abuse that her daughter endured during her relationship with Sean Combs. This is mind-blowing to me when I heard this. So, Regina testified that back in 2011, she and her husband paid Diddy $20,000. They actually had to take out, they didn't have the money, they had to take out a home equity line of credit on their home. After he threatened to release explicit videos of Cassie and hurt her and rapper Kid Cudi, who she was dating at the time. So, they were so worried about their daughter's safety, they took out this HELOC so that they could have the money to give it to Diddy. I mean, talk about blackmail right there. The funds were returned to their account a few days later, which is kind of interesting to me. She also recalled documenting all of the bruises all over Cassie's body from the physical abuse that she was enduring at Diddy's hands during that time. Those photographs were entered into evidence supporting Cassie's testimony from last week. Also, following her testimony that Diddy was enraged over her relationship with Kid Cudi, I'm hearing he's expected to testify either today or tomorrow.

00:47:47 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 1:

Remember, for racketeering conspiracy, the prosecutor has to prove two racketeering predicate acts. And one of those acts is arson. So from Kid Cudi, what the prosecution is hoping to get, that Sean Combs had Kid Cudi's car blown up.

00:48:05 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That'll be interesting. Interesting day in court. Jennifer Lopez being sued for posting photos of herself. This is an interesting story. She's being sued by the photographer and the paparazzi agency who took said photos. They say she failed to get their permission to use them and post them. The photos are from January. They're of Jen arriving at the Amazon MGM Studios and Vanity Fair party in L.A. right before this year's Golden Globes. Photographer Edwin Blanco and Batgrid, the agency that he was working for at the time, have each filed lawsuit saying they own the copyright to those two photos. they want 150 grand per photos in damage or in damages i think these photographers

00:48:44 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

and these paparazzis that own these photos and videos and the celebrity is being violated by having the pictures taken of them they should at very least if it's a photo of you have the ability to be able to use that photo and i know these photographers will say well if you sat down for a photo session you'd have to pay for it but realistically you're out in a public

00:49:07 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 2:

place for sure maybe with a credit i wonder if she credited them or didn't credit them and that

00:49:12 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 3:

was part of the problem this is the problem nowadays with everything is that you know everybody's like well i need to get paid for that because i'm seeing it you know fair usage and all the rest of that stuff needs to come into play too like there's fair usage i think in that and also i think there's sometimes fair usage in music too and i think that these guys are going after we get people this is the craziest we get people that post our war of the roses on their social media and we can't go after them for war of the roses we have to actually fight to ask them to take it down and photographers and stuff all they got to do is show that the photo was used in a stamp that they have and they get instantly money off of the and when you're talking about war of

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

the roses it's not like if you're listening right now and you see a war of the roses you like and you repost it on your instagram story or facebook we're talking people make accounts and it's just

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 3:

our War of the Roses. They created an account for people to watch our War of the Roses, which is not cool.

00:50:04 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 1:

They're using us to make money off of their YouTube pages.

00:50:09 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 2:

I feel like celebrities should get paid by photographers that utilize their photos. Paparazzi, let me say that. To make money. To make money. You should at least get paid. Yeah.

00:50:19 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 1:

I mean, listen, if they're making money, you should be making money. And if otherwise, just let them use it. Let J-Lo use it.

00:50:25 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 3:

And a spoiler alert, if you haven't watched last night's episode, the finale of The Voice, the season 27 winner was crowned. It was Adam David and his coach Michael Buble who took the cake this year. Back-to-back wins for Michael Buble, by the way. Really?

00:50:48 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 1:

Is that Adam or is that Michael Buble singing? That's Adam. Both of them together. Wow, that guy's got a voice on, that Adam guy. Yeah.

00:50:57 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 3:

The Voice season 28, by the way, going to see the return of Michael Buble, Reba McIntyre, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg.

00:51:03 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 1:

It's amazing. The American Idol winner was also great the other day, too, that we were listening to.

00:51:07 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 2:

They both wrapped up around the same time. Interesting.

00:51:09 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're looking at it. They usually do. Which show gets better ratings? American Idol or The Voice? I don't watch either. I don't know. I don't know.

00:51:15 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 3:

Hey, for all of today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast or it's Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:51:20 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 1:

Get more dirt at Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning, I was panicking yesterday. Have you ever had this happen to you? You ever have yourself, you take off like your wedding ring? And I'll explain my situation because there's no shenanigans in this one. I took off my wedding ring and then couldn't find it. So yesterday, I went to the bathroom, and it takes me a little time to go to the bathroom here at this radio studio is when I got a go-go to the bathroom, you know? poop you didn't have to say that i wanted people to you know maybe put it in their mind but yes while i was uh while i was pooping yeah so i took my ring off and i put it on the control board and then came back into work you know uh do my thing editing some stuff and then i started panicking because i'm getting ready to leave and i thank god i noticed it because if i got home i would have freaked out totally i forgot to put my ring back on so i didn't remember where the hell I put my ring and I left it on the control board in the control board. So if you look, my ring is black. I put it on here. It looks, it blends in. So you don't even know.

00:52:29 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask you a question?

00:52:30 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:52:31 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 3:

Why did you take off your wedding ring to go poop?

00:52:33 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

Because Shannon, I don't know if you know this, but I have issues wiping and I want to make sure I don't.

00:52:41 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:52:42 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. No, I did. No.

00:52:44 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, why did you take off your ring to go to the bathroom?

00:52:47 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 1:

I take off my ring so that when I wash my hands and stuff like that, I don't have to take the ring off.

00:52:51 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 3:

I wash my hands with my rings on.

00:52:53 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 1:

I understand, but I know I was going to do the whole blowout thing, so I was doing it.

00:52:58 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 2:

Anybody got a doo-doo in his ring.

00:53:00 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 1:

Listen, there's no foul play in this one here. There's just foul smells. But I don't know if you've ever had this happen to you. Have you ever lost your ring? And I want to ask that question, why do you take your ring off? I'll ask that question to you, and where did you lose it? Because I panicked yesterday because my panic is not honestly anything other than having to answer to where my ring was. Because Chelsea, I think if I came home and said, yeah, I took it off to go poop. She'd do exactly what Shannon's doing. Why do you take your ring off?

00:53:28 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 2:

Do you not like tile, that thing that you can put inside your wallet if you lose your wallet? It's like this company. Do they make anything like that for wedding rings where you can like air tag it if you happen to lose it?

00:53:38 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 3:

There should be an itty bitty something that like a magnet that you can attach to the inside of your band.

00:53:44 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 1:

You need it almost for everything, don't you? Like, like, I always feel like I need it for my Apple TV remote, you know? Yes.

00:53:51 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever lost your ring, Shannon? I've never lost my ring, but you know what happened to me the other day? I almost had a dang heart attack. So Fran Lucido gave me this little jewelry cleaning kit and you soak. So I soak my, my engagement ring, my, you know, my diamond in water or in this whatever solution. And then she gave me this little, it looks like a tooth, like a half of a toothbrush and I scrub my ring. So I'm, I took it out of the solution. I'm holding it in my hand and I'm scrubbing it over the sink. Like an idiot. It's like a movie. And I don't know what the heck happened. I think just cause it was slippery. I dropped it and it was like slow motion where I watched my ring and these three slide down the sink and stop just at

00:54:37 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 1:

the drain i have that happen to me with my pills like if i take a pill or something like that like i it will go right to the drain and it will go around and i'm like going oh try to grab the thing carolyn are you there yes i'm here where'd you lose your ring

00:54:54 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 2:

I put them on the table. Well, I, you know, put them in my palm and went to throw them in the garbage. Well, three hours later, I was looking, like you said, everywhere that I thought I had put it. Too afraid to call my husband and tell him that I couldn't find my rings. Opened up a garbage bag that I had taken out in there. Well, I had put a new garbage bag, and I found on the bottom of it.

00:55:21 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 7:

Oh, thank God. Where are you right now? Why does it sound like this?

00:55:26 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm driving to work.

00:55:27 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 7:

Do you have your windows open?

00:55:28 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 2:

In a submarine? No, I'm driving a Rivian, so I don't know if it's that.

00:55:33 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? That's interesting. That's that electric car. I've always wondered. Are those nice cars? It's beautiful. It looks beautiful. Somebody told me that their leases are really inexpensive right now on those things.

00:55:46 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it really, I had a Tesla before, but this tops it off.

00:55:50 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? Yeah, those things look kind of nice.

00:55:52 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 6:

Shout out my girl Maureen doing legal over there.

00:55:55 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 7:

At?

00:55:55 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 6:

At Rivian.

00:55:56 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 7:

Really? You know somebody that does legal work for Rivian?

00:55:59 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 6:

My girl Maureen.

00:56:00 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 7:

I didn't know that Rivian is local.

00:56:02 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't know.

00:56:03 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 7:

She just met a girl named Rivian, or Rivian Maureen. I knew her before she started working there.

00:56:09 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 6:

That meant to just be, like, a one-line thing.

00:56:13 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 7:

I didn't know they had, like, local offices. What's up, Tessa? Hi.

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So my husband, he, we got married at the courthouse.

00:56:23 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:56:24 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 1:

So, we were doing our marriage, and he lost my band when we exchanged rings. So, we were standing up there, and he didn't have my wedding band. He had it with him in his pocket, and then he lost my wedding band, and, like, I exchanged his ring, and then he exchanged mine, and he couldn't find it.

00:56:46 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 7:

That's the worst place to lose it during the ceremony.

00:56:50 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I would die. Later on, we found out that when he took everything out of his pockets for security, it fell out of his pocket when he took all his phone and keys out of his pocket. And security had it the whole time, but they didn't bother to bring it up to us.

00:57:08 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 7:

Do you take that as a sign? Is that a sign? Are you guys still together?

00:57:12 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're still together.

00:57:13 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 7:

Thank God. Oh, thank goodness. That would make me feel sad if all of a sudden you're like, no, we're not together. I was like, uh-oh.

00:57:20 - 00:57:29 | Speaker 6:

I remember when my friend got married, I was the best man. He gave me the rings. I immediately went to the room and put them in there. There's no way I'm going to be the cause for y'all not getting married because I lost the ring.

00:57:29 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. What's up, George?

00:57:33 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, how you doing, guys?

00:57:34 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 7:

Good, buddy.

00:57:34 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 4:

We always do a Halloween camping trip at the end of October. And the one particular year we had snow, me and the kids were making snowballs and throwing them in the lake. I had taken off my gloves to pack them harder, throw them farther, and my ring went with it. Oh, no.

00:57:54 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 7:

That's a story.

00:57:55 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 1:

Did your heart just go right into your stomach?

00:57:58 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, because that was the second one that I've lost.

00:58:00 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

00:58:02 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 7:

There's more to this story. Hey, you're the problem. We won't get into this.

00:58:05 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 1:

You need those rubber rings where you just get six at a time.

00:58:09 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, this one that I've had, I've had for a long time now. I mean, I'm constantly keeping my hand, you know, like a fist to feel it that it's there.

00:58:18 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 7:

To make sure, yeah.

00:58:19 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 4:

You know, just to have me, but I know it went in the lake, so somebody will find it fishing or something.

00:58:25 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 7:

Be careful with your rings. What's up, Tim?

00:58:29 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you doing? Good, man. So I want to tell a story. It's a bad story, but it's a good ending because first off, I'm a recovering alcoholic. I got three and a half years sober. Love it, Dylan.

00:58:42 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 6:

Nice, man.

00:58:43 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 5:

Keep going. Thank you. Appreciate it. So during that time of my alcoholism, it was a block party, and we got home, and my wife always takes her ring off every single night. Every single night she takes it off, puts it on the ring stand. So she gave it to me, and mind you, you get done drinking, picture after club, you like to do a little extracurricular activity, so that didn't work out. So I was a little angry, and she gave me her ring to put on the stand, and I put it on my finger and I walked out of the room.

00:59:11 - 00:59:11 | Unknown:

Oh, my.

00:59:11 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 5:

So when I walked out of the room, all I remember the next morning when she says, hey, where's my ring at? I said, it's right over. And I was blank. And I'm thinking, where is your ring? And all I can remember is just setting it in a corner of some type of box cabinet somewhere in the home. So we've searched high and low. We've looked everywhere in the garage, in the cars, in the house, over and over. still cannot find this ring anywhere.

00:59:40 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 7:

And the drunk Tim lost it.

00:59:43 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she wants me to see a hypnotist. Oh, you still haven't found it? Oh, that's the end of the story.

00:59:49 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, jeez. I thought you said the story turns nice.

00:59:51 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 5:

That's the end of the story.

00:59:52 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 7:

What's the good part of the story that you gave up drinking?

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

The good part is I'm sober now. Okay, good. All right, we'll take that.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Unknown:

All right, Tim.

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Now you've got to get her a new ring.

01:00:02 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 5:

Man. I'm like, Tim, that is a depressing story. Jordan lost it on the job, and he works at FedEx. Excuse me. Let me get that thing out of my throat. Jordan. Hi. Hey. What's going on? You work at FedEx, and you lost it on the job?

01:00:19 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had lost some weight since the wedding, and it was when it was real slushy and snowy, and I went to close the back door and dump snow all over my hand. So as I was brushing it off, I went to the bathroom, realized it was gone. But by the time I got back over there, it was at a dot, and a whole semi-truck had backed in. So I'm crawling underneath a semi-truck trying to find it on the phone with my wife. And she's like, well, I guess you're not married anymore.

01:00:49 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That would be brutal if it got delivered to somebody, you know. All of a sudden, somebody gets it. Jay lost it when it went down the toilet. Is that right, Jay?

01:01:00 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Well, literally, I was sitting next to my fiance, and I was like, where is my ring? I lost it. I literally couldn't find it. But every time I would, like, wipe, my ring would hit the toilet. So he believed that it passed us down the toilet. Oh, no.

01:01:15 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 3:

And I have to say, it's different for girls and guys, because girls' rings are normally way more expensive than just the guys' band.

01:01:22 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 5:

You don't wipe with that ring finger, do you? You put that ring in?

01:01:26 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 3:

I wipe with my right hand. Okay. I do. I do wipe with it. Oh, no.

01:01:30 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 5:

She might be a lefty. That ring.

01:01:31 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 3:

She bought me a new one right after, though, so he's amazing. So the diamond's getting... How are you wiping that you think that I would get something on that?

01:01:39 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 5:

Because if you're too close to the toilet, that diamond's going to pop off it or something and go right down into the toilet.

01:01:46 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I need a demonstration of how you wipe. I don't.

01:01:51 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 5:

I'll show you.

01:01:52 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 4:

You talk about having that, like, attachment thing that's kind of like a bidet. When you have a bidet, do you have to wipe? No. Or does it just spray it all out?

01:02:00 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 5:

No, you just pad dry it, you know?

01:02:01 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 4:

So it'll spray it out.

01:02:03 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 5:

It sprays out, yeah. But when I'm here at the station, we don't have that, so. That's true. Here's a question for you, okay? I'm going to call this one Tainted Ring, and it's not because I wiped in the toilet. Did you see this story? This story's trending this morning. A woman says that her engagement ring feels tainted after her future mother-in-law sneakily wore it. The bride-to-be is fuming after catching her future mother-in-law slipping on her engagement ring without asking. She shared this story on Reddit. She says that she left her ring for a moment while gardening and then came back to find her fiancé's mom admiring the ring. The twist is these two already have a rocky relationship with each other. What do you guys think about that? The mother-in-law tried the ring on.

01:02:52 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 3:

I think that's silly. I don't think you should do that. That she thinks, no, I think it's silly that she's making such a big deal out of it. Why is she putting on her ring, though? To just, like, go like this? I don't know. And then she doesn't want to wear the ring anymore?

01:03:04 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 5:

You don't think it's weird, though, that his mom put the ring that he's given this girl?

01:03:11 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Just for a second to see what it looked like on a finger?

01:03:14 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, I don't know how long it was, but still, though, for any time. That just seems weird.

01:03:18 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel like she is just trying to create more drama in an already drama-filled relationship, or she didn't like the ring in the first place, and she's looking for an excuse to get a new one.

01:03:29 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 5:

Really?

01:03:30 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 3:

I do not think that is a big deal.

01:03:31 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 5:

What do you guys think? 844 Mojo Live. One of the Reddit users wrote, that ring is a symbol of your love from your partner not your mother-in-law but to try deal

01:03:41 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

with it seconds so i feel like it's a thing with girls i remember when i first got engaged and even megan was sitting next to me and she's like oh my gosh let me try in your ring like don't you think that's bad luck to do that so i don't but wes is he does not want me to have to let anybody try in the ring except for like lucy or samantha like the the girls but anybody else he's like no

01:04:04 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 5:

that's it's like a superstition for a guy when they're I don't think it's a big girl let somebody wear it it's almost kind of like you're saying that uh you know you know anybody's open fair

01:04:16 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 4:

game my you're not just gonna allow my willy to be used and tried on by anybody else would you let would you let somebody else would you let a girl try Wes out I can't say dick no more so I

01:04:26 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 3:

gotta say uh okay a penis and a ring are very different I'm saying something that is yours

01:04:33 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Something that is sacred to this relationship that nobody else has.

01:04:37 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 3:

But if Wes came in here right now and you were like, hey, you have a cool ring. Let me see it. And you tried it on. I would think nothing of that. Yeah, I would never say that, though. And I know he would very much disagree with me.

01:04:48 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:04:49 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm not for that.

01:04:50 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 5:

No? No, no way. Annie, what do you think about that, Annie? What would you do if your mother-in-law tried your ring on?

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I would be more worried.

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 7:

about what my husband would say to her versus what I would say to her.

01:05:03 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Why? He would be upset about that, huh?

01:05:05 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 7:

He would be livid about that. He'd be like, why are you, what are you doing? Why are you wearing her ring? Yeah, no, that wouldn't fly. And, um, no, it's just, no, no.

01:05:17 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 2:

Especially the fact that they don't like each other. So listen to this one real quick. Annie lost her, uh, her husband's grandma's ring.

01:05:24 - 01:05:25 | Unknown:

Oh God.

01:05:26 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 2:

And tell everybody where he was at the time that you lost it. uh he was in oakland county jail oh boy he was in jail at the time what did he do did he do

01:05:37 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 7:

something bad uh no not exactly so um a long time ago he had some stuff going on uh he was starting to take care of those things and the judge ended up just putting him in jail because he he was so late with getting everything done she was like yeah no you're supposed to take care of this

01:05:59 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 2:

forever ago you're gonna spend this time in jail so while he's in jail you lose his grandma's ring are you worried that he's thinking something he's gonna think something bad happened while he was in

01:06:08 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 7:

jail no not at all so here's what happened here's what happened so mojo i was like you i took my ring off to put lotion on my hand yeah and i dropped it and i dropped it in the parking lot i think at my work so hours went by and i'm like oh snap i don't have this ring going i'm looking

01:06:31 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 2:

all over for it and i never found it oh man wow that's awful that's sad that that happened well thank god that uh that you're okay and he's out of jail she ponded adriana what's going on hi

01:06:43 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 6:

adriana hey how's it going good morning yeah i think it's the same um as this last caller i think that the mom was just trying to like start you know stuff yeah um totally yeah i think that when it comes to it already them already having bad blood and everything like that it was totally the mom just trying to be like oh this will get her goat yeah you know it's

01:07:10 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 2:

almost like she probably waited until she came in from gardening to show her that she had the ring on basically saying i'll always be his girl that's what i'm reading a little monster along about it possibly danielle what's going on good morning good morning first time long time

01:07:28 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 5:

yes yes so i was just calling to say that you have no idea how many people tried the ring on in the store so i don't understand why it's a big deal i get that no i get that there's probably a

01:07:47 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 2:

lot of people that have tried that ring on but here's the thing not one of them is that evil

01:07:52 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 5:

grandma that mother-in-law you know well then that's more about the relationship and less about

01:07:58 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 1:

the ring oh it's 100 about the relationship it's two very different things that are that are

01:08:02 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 2:

figuring into this here do you think like that when you get a wedding ring that this has been

01:08:06 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 1:

tried on by multiple people um no i mean in my case i had lucido like they they made this ring Wes had them make this ring specifically for me, so it wasn't one that they had in the store.

01:08:19 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay. I don't think of it like that when you get a wedding ring. I feel like this is designed for you. Vicki, are you there?

01:08:26 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am.

01:08:27 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

What's your motto?

01:08:29 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 3:

Do not touch my ring.

01:08:31 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Ooh, I like that. Or else. Or else what?

01:08:35 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 3:

No, it's just mine. It was mine, and we said our vows. It's mine. I don't want bad energy on it from anybody else. And in the case of people trying it on, mine actually wasn't because at the time we got married, white gold wasn't a thing. So we had to order mine.

01:08:54 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. So you didn't have to worry about that. Yeah.

01:08:57 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:08:57 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

So thank you. Thank you for the call. I appreciate you. Have a good one. I like that. I wouldn't mess with you. Listen to Sean's here. Sean, are you there?

01:09:06 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm here.

01:09:07 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 2:

Listen to this. Sean lost her ring, and wait till you hear who found it. Go ahead, Sean.

01:09:14 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Me and my ex-husband, we was painting our bedroom one day, and I took my rings off so we can paint. And I took it off in the room where we was painting it, and I put it under some plastic. We couldn't find it. I was devastated. Months later, after we broke up, I found out he was cheating on me, and I found out he had gave it to the woman he was cheating on me.

01:09:37 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Okay, that is a huge no-no. You cannot reuse a ring. Unless it's a family heirloom or something that was your grandma's and you're giving it. You cannot reuse a ring. No way. Yep, and he kept saying,

01:09:50 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

That's awful. He kept saying, baby, because at the time our baby was little, and he was like, maybe she took it and it fell down the vent. You know, he had a whole bunch of it.

01:10:00 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 2:

He was plotting. He knew what he was. Now, when you said y'all was painting the room, I thought that was a new way of saying y'all was baking cookies. He knew he was going to break your wish. I guarantee that a new girl don't know that somebody else had that ring.

01:10:13 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 3:

That's nuts. Man.

01:10:15 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:10:16 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call, Sean. Take care of yourself. Pre-meditated.

01:10:19 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay, brother.

01:10:20 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 1:

01:11:02 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 3:

this morning we're going to find out what the reasoning is in the second date update why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date with somebody usually it's the guys that are the ones that are kind of moving on so quickly and not calling the girls back uh also this hour on the show uh shannon with planning her own proposal and um why did you pass on baking cookies what's your excuse for passing on baking cookies we'll wait till the kids go to school coming up here in just a little bit and then we'll get into that and more here on the mojo in the morning show we are commercial free right now can i call out something i'm going to call out something with uh somebody on the show here for one second i think sometimes people don't understand how unbelievably nice and sweet some people are on this radio show we all get bad images well kevin on the show yesterday i witnessed kevin and he was on the phone and i was like hearing him having a conversation i was eavesdropping so don't don't be mad at me for

01:12:08 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 1:

doing this that just seems really not like you yeah right and i thought to myself i'm like oh

01:12:13 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

kevin sounds like he's buying something for one of the many girls that are in his life and it's true he was he was buying his mom a new battery for her car because her battery broke And I'm listening to him doing this And I'm thinking to myself You know what, this guy is not so bad That was very sweet Your mom needed a battery And you ended up Flipping the bell What is it called? Fitting the bell You're footing the bell

01:12:44 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what it is As you're saying this I was thinking about it after it happened I think my mom They say don't sell a woman's age But she's not a spring chicken she in her 60s at this point she we're in an interesting time where i'm starting to like take care and handle more things for her yeah and not necessarily are the roles reversing but paying a bill online because maybe she doesn't know how to do it or sending her toilet paper through amazon because it's just easier but like having to do certain things for my parents that I didn't think that I'll have to be doing this early. And it's like, I'm at this kind of like weird moment where I'm like trying to figure out my life and kind of identify stability and what that looks like for me while still trying to chase greatness and success and all of that, but still having like the other hand in it where I'm like at the same time trying to help and do all these things for my mom and she's starting to get older and make it easier for her.

01:13:45 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 3:

I thought that was so sweet.

01:13:46 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

You caught me in one of those moments.

01:13:47 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 3:

No, I thought it was so sweet because I got to tell you something, man.

01:13:49 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 2:

That's very you, Kev.

01:13:50 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 3:

It is.

01:13:51 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 2:

I love my mama. I don't always show her, but I was one of those.

01:13:54 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

You are a great guy. And I think sometimes, and I'm not bringing this up on the air to try to do anything like where I'm trying to pour accolades on you because it was a battery, but you didn't have to do it. But I think that sometimes people don't understand how sweet of a guy he is when they hear him talking about his thumb. and you talked about that was all you you know what i mean like there is there are times there are times when i sit there and i go wow and i don't have a mom you know and i haven't had one in a while because she had passed but i sit there and think i think that would be something i would do for my mom if my yeah you know i mean i'd do that or just get her an uber you know i'm not the same but it but it's cool and i don't honestly i'm bringing this up not even knowing if there's a topic in this at all because we always you know look to to do topics but sometimes i i sit there and i go you know sometimes we don't realize um how roles do get reversed like it's weird like when we're kids you know our parents

01:15:00 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 4:

take care of us right they give us our lunch money you know they buy us our clothes and put you know food in our mouths and stuff like that and then later in life when we get older to a certain point it's almost kind of like we're giving back you know and taking care of them and when does my when do my kids actually start doing that good luck buddy you're still pretty self-sufficient

01:15:22 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 3:

yeah but that's the mine is going up and down stairs apparently mine is going i know at least

01:15:28 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 4:

My son laughed at me when I fell down the stairs. Literally still laughs at me about it. What's up, Michelle? How you doing?

01:15:34 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Well, Kevin, you saved the day with my two daughters at the Barbie preview movie. My daughter has a pink car, and her card was not working to leave the parking garage. And without hesitation, you were so generous and just came up and swiped your card for my girls. And I love you for that. Thank you. Ah, no problem.

01:15:59 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 4:

Who is this, Michelle? That's nice. That was so nice of him. I didn't even know he did that. That's crazy.

01:16:05 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was super sweet of him.

01:16:08 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 4:

That is, this guy hasn't bought me anything. What is going on here? I could use maybe a breakfast or something every now and again. I got you tomorrow. I'll do something nice for you tomorrow. Actually, I got to tell you, though, he did say to me that he wants to come over and drink from my bourbon collection because I, so we're going to, I think we are going to have a drink or something. I'm going to take you home tomorrow. I like it. Thank you. I need rides by the way, Michelle. Do you know that I'm, I'm actually dependent on people driving me because I can't

01:16:37 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 3:

drive for like another week. My daughter can come pick you up in her pink and her pink car.

01:16:44 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 4:

That's sweet. Tell her we say. It's very nice, Michelle. I appreciate that. All right. Let me ask you this question. All right. Now I'm going to flip the script on this one here and I'll, I'll take some more of these calls that are coming in, just the nice calls. How many people have to actually support their freaking mothers? Are there any people that are out there listening to this thing going, I got to support my mom. Like, I got to take care of everything for her. Because I wonder sometimes about that. Like, I wonder how many times people have to deal with, you know, that at a certain age. Like a complete reversal.

01:17:14 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 3:

That would be super tough.

01:17:14 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I couldn't imagine the stress that that would be. What's up, Leah? How you doing?

01:17:19 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys? We're great.

01:17:21 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? I'm sitting over here next to our Lord and Savior. What's happening? Hope, Leo.

01:17:29 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

I just wanted to say I work in the senior living industry, and this sandwich generation, kind of what Kev's talking about, about taking care of himself, his kids, but now also his parents. It's a very common thing, and you're not alone, Kev, and working in these senior livings, sometimes a lot of people don't have family to just send them a box of tissues. so you know don't be so hard on yourself and just know that there's so many resources out there if you ever need anything um i love being an advocate for for families and it's just it's it's something

01:18:01 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 4:

i don't know what is that called again is saying you're got me confused the sand what is it sandwich

01:18:06 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

what sandwich generation it's called the sandwich generation what is that basically you have you know you have your own family that you're taking care of and then you have your i don't want to say elderly because i don't think kevin's mom's elderly by any means but just you know aging parents again yes and then you have yourself who's sandwiched in between both of them you also have to take care of yourself so there's just that dynamic shift of like am i a parent am i a child am i you know what what am i man do i feel that i've never heard that name but that makes total

01:18:37 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 4:

sense to me that's interesting yeah well thank you leah for the the call it's very nice of you to point that out. I never knew that at all. I just learned yesterday, what was it? Instead of instead of Oh God, what the hell was it? It was in our prep yesterday. I saw it in the prep. The new dating thing. Oh God, forget it. Move on. I'll remember. No, it's a new term that I never heard of before. There's a new term every week. They're so dumb. It was fog lighting or something like that. There was like a new term instead of gas lighting. It was like fog lighting or something. I don't know. And I'm like, oh, good. Something to take over gaslighting because I hate when people call in and they go, they're gaslighting me. I'm like, oh, let's put that one to bed. That was two, five years ago. What's going on, Elizabeth?

01:19:28 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how are you guys doing this morning? Good.

01:19:31 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 4:

What's up?

01:19:33 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Good. So I actually had the pleasure of getting to know Kev prior to his time in radio. I'm friends with very good close friends of him, the Galilays. Okay. And I actually got to go to Mexico. Okay, yeah. And I got to see him, and he's just such a good person, and his heart is just pure gold. So, Kev, we wanted to shout you out. We love you so much. Love you, too. You're the best.

01:19:59 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that was a good one.

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 3:

good trip. Did he do anything? Talking about Langston Galloway? No, Elena came in here.

01:20:04 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

Shout out Langston Galloway. Oh, okay.

01:20:06 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 2:

Did he, Elizabeth, did he do anything at night when everybody gets crazy in Mexico? We don't have to talk about that.

01:20:13 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 1:

We're not going to talk about that.

01:20:15 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 2:

Shout out, Alex. You went out on a few dates, had Thanksgiving, and now you're getting ghosted? No, no, please don't. What happened? Second date uptake happens at 8.20. I'm Mojo in the morning. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. Oh, you know what I wanted to bring up, Kevin? You brought up a story about somebody that is in jail and their family members are leaving them in there.

01:20:40 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 3:

They're leaving them in there. I was having a conversation with my friend yesterday and her younger brother, who's like, well, older brother, because she's like in her early 20s. He's in his mid 20s, maybe 25, 26. he has gotten in some trouble throughout his life and the trouble that he's gotten into hasn't resulted in him being incarcerated or in jail for a significant time it's been like a slap on the wrist maybe he spent the night in there maybe he spent the weekend in there but he did something recently and this is a new friend so I didn't want to pry too much and say well how long is he going to be in there how long somebody I'm just getting to know so I didn't want to dig too deep and kind of scare her off but she said although he's in jail and they have the money to bail him out they being the family her her brothers and sisters her mom and her dad have come together and said we are not going to bail him out the only way he's going to learn his lesson is by staying his ass in jail yeah and i don't know if that's something that i could do that'd be hard that would be that would be crazy and they have the ability to communicate like he's able to call they have video chat and they say i guess he was pissed off extremely like why did you know if y'all gonna leave me in here, y'all supposed to be my family and take me out. But they're at this point saying no, this is the only way you're gonna learn and we're gonna see change is by leaving you in there. How long? I didn't ask how long. She said it wasn't like a short time though. This isn't like a six month stay. Like he gonna be in there for a little minute.

01:21:59 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 2:

I wonder, this is interesting, and this is actually one of those ones where I would love to know from some of the people that listen to us. We got a vast variety of listeners. You know, we've got the nice moms with the white picket fences and then we've got the people that are in jail and prison and stuff like that we go we run the gamut i want to know why your family left you in jail like or or what what happened when you called from jail because if you're somebody that calls from if i call from jail and i call home ring ring ring ring ring this is this one phone call and i pick up the phone and chelsea's like yeah good luck i'll talk to you later hangs up the phone you know what i mean i totally get the idea of teaching them a lesson i just wonder

01:22:41 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 1:

then when they get out do they like your relationship with your family it totally changes right with that family member totally changes i've been in situations i'm sorry good

01:22:50 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 3:

no go ahead i've been in situations it hasn't been people in jail but i've had people that i've had to commit to let's just say a mental hospital whatever the case may be people who have been in situations where an intervention was needed intervention was needed they get back on the meds they're doing all the right things and then i would say some things isn't by their own admission and some things, you know, it's a sickness. But the things that are up to them that they don't take hold of and make the necessary changes when they're in control, at that point it's like you've got to take your hands off because I can't live, I can't make you be better. You have to make the decision yourself.

01:23:22 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is there a difference between they're in jail and they're in prison? Because when I think of jail, I think of like the county jail. When I think of prison, I think of the big, you know, yard where there's like the big, you know, like, like the, like the one prison I always think of is like Jackson prison, which you can't really see from the road on 94. But I got off the road one time because I had to go somewhere and I had to do like a detour turnaround because there was an accident. And I drove by the prison and I was like, holy, I mean, it was like, it was like, honestly, it looked like a college campus for gosh sakes.

01:24:00 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 1:

you know what i mean they're sliding meals through the slits in the door oh and then i and then i

01:24:03 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 2:

think of these people that just escaped from that prison in new orleans down in new orleans or i think it was i don't know if it's a prison or a jail but these people that like escaped and i'm watching the video of them like getting out and stuff like that through the toilet so if if your family member was in local county yeah they they took the toilet they took the wait i did not hear the story they took the toilet so there was 10 people or 12 people or something they got they That got out? They said the custodian helped them. They threatened the custodian, according to the custodian, to take the urinal off the wall. Turn the water off. And turn the water off so they can slide through and go through that area.

01:24:41 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 3:

That's like Shawshank Redemption style. I think they caught six of them at this point.

01:24:45 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. One guy they caught yesterday was at his grandma's house. What a big idiot.

01:24:51 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 3:

How would you not go to your...

01:24:52 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 2:

Like, that would be the first place I'd go is my grandma's house. What's up, Initial S? What's going on?

01:24:57 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning.

01:25:00 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

so growing up like i had a really i have a really great mom um she was always there for me i got a free pass the first time i went to jail she bailed me out the second time i went to jail she hit my own savings account to get me out of jail the third time i went to jail oh my god i got to sit there oh my god she's like no more you're not you're not learning your lesson you're

01:25:26 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

a little bit wild and i went to jail a couple more times oh you went to jail how many times five times five times what are you going to jail for every time just you know fun stuff what are you doing that you haven't learned your lesson what's happening there

01:25:45 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 1:

i've learned it now i've learned it now number five was the turning point when when was the

01:25:50 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 2:

last time you were in 2016 okay so it has been a bit man that's wild god i couldn't imagine as a parent of like if your poor parents man having to deal with that that's wild that many times liam what's going on hey how's it going good liam we're talking about

01:26:10 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 3:

this isn't your one phone call is it liam yeah this is liam so um i i was uh i'm a recovering addict i've been in recovery for almost five years now and i had a a few times where like i was put in jail and i was bailed out by my family and then finally they just had enough of it kind of like kind of what's saying about his friend's family member right like they had enough of it and kind of came together and they're like we'll be able to do it anymore you know that's enough and uh i ended up doing um nine months in the county jail were you sitting in there the

01:26:48 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 2:

whole time just hoping that one day they were going to show yeah until my sentencing date and

01:26:54 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 3:

then they gave me some nine months but you know and I called the heck out of them I kept on calling calling and I felt so now looking back I'm like probably one of the best things that could have happened to me that's great to hear you know that's great yeah doing great now nine

01:27:09 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 2:

months don't go to county jail it's not fun you know you should actually use your time right now to talk to people that are kind of needing to get on the straight and narrow, you'd be a great advocate to keep them out.

01:27:21 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 3:

I actually do that for a living. That's great. That's great, Liam. What an incredible story.

01:27:26 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 2:

What a story. That's awesome. Frances, what's up, Frances?

01:27:31 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 6:

I left my son in jail, county jail, because he got in a fight with his father. He assaulted him. And it was Mother's Day weekend. Oh, God. Yeah, it was terrible. And now he is a Detroit police officer. Oh, my God.

01:27:50 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so hold on a second. So it was Mother's Day weekend. He gets in a fight with his dad. He goes to jail, and you're like, that son of a bitch is going to sit in jail.

01:28:00 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 3:

Ruined my weekend.

01:28:01 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Okay.

01:28:02 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 6:

He ruined my weekend, and I have no more favors for him.

01:28:07 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:28:07 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 6:

But you know what? It taught him a lesson, and now he's a great kid.

01:28:12 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Now he's doing good things. That's great. That's a great story to hear. Don't be messing with Mom's Mother's Day. Tell you. Oh, my God. Liz left her mom in jail. You left your mom in jail?

01:28:23 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So I was a little bit younger, and my mom was an addict at the time, and we wanted her to go to rehab. She refused, and we had found out she was doing some really bad things, and we left her in jail for nine months so that she would finally get sober.

01:28:43 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Did it help? Did it work?

01:28:47 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 5:

It worked for a little bit, and then she unfortunately went back to her old ways.

01:28:52 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. That's so sad. I can hear in your voice that this is a tough thing.

01:28:57 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. God rest her soul. She passed away five years ago, so unfortunately it sucks, but I'm a huge advocate for getting help as an addict. I think it's really hard to find help nowadays. But I love talking about it now that I am old enough to understand it.

01:29:22 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:29:23 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 5:

So.

01:29:24 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 2:

Liz, thank you. Appreciate your call. Take care of yourself.

01:29:27 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, of course. Thank you.

01:29:28 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 2:

This is wild. I like Heidi. Heidi. Heidi. Nobody. You left it. Well, this is understandable. Heidi left her ex-husband in jail. You left her ex-husband in jail?

01:29:40 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, he wasn't my ex-husband at the time. I mean, he wasn't my husband at the time, but he got in for fighting at a bar. Yeah. And dad came with a note, gave him a note and said, you got yourself in, you can get yourself out.

01:29:52 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, tough love. He was ready.

01:29:55 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:29:56 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 2:

Do you wish that he was still in jail right now, seeing that he's now your ex-husband? No, not at all. It was just funny. He's been a whole family for years and years.

01:30:07 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, throw his ass in there and lock him up and throw away the key, right?

01:30:13 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, his parents left him, yeah.

01:30:15 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 7:

Get rid of that son of a bitch.

01:30:16 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 2:

All right. Warning. Members of this show have been arrested. Just not convicted.

01:30:22 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 1:

Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

01:30:25 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 6:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:30:28 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 7:

All right, why are you not getting a call back? Vincent isn't getting a call back, and he's wondering what's going on. Vincent, this is a bummer, man, although, you know what? Equal opportunity for all those guys that don't call the girls back. What's happening? You're not getting a call back?

01:30:45 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 5:

No, I've been trying. I've been texting. I've been calling, and no word back.

01:30:50 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 7:

Well, we were able to get a hold of her, so we're going to find out exactly what's going on. You like her, though, huh? You'd like to go on another date?

01:30:57 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 6:

I did, yeah. And I thought she liked me.

01:31:00 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 7:

Let's figure out what's going on. Kelly is on the phone with us right now. Kelly, hi.

01:31:05 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:31:07 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 7:

Kelly, why aren't you calling Vincent back?

01:31:10 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 4:

He's a catfish. Damn. Like, 100%.

01:31:14 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 7:

How could he be a catfish? He's wanting to get a hold of you right now. What do you mean by that? He's a catfish.

01:31:19 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, because when I met him, so, like, he, on social media, right? and we met on social media, which is fine. And he looks like he looked like really put together on the Internet. And that was not the case in real life.

01:31:36 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 7:

Wait, Vincent.

01:31:37 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 4:

Just slobby. You're not together.

01:31:39 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 7:

Say hi to him, Kelly.

01:31:43 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, hi. I mean, you know.

01:31:45 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 7:

No, he's on the phone with us right now. He can hear you. Say hello to him.

01:31:51 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I mean, okay. But I just sort of like it doesn't change. like what do you mean i wasn't was it his appearance what was it specifically like he was so he was really like classy looking i don't i don't like i sound like my grandmother when i said that but he was it's like very classy looking on social media and then when like the date was fine and but then we went to his house and it was not it was like gross it was gross like the whole thing was it just felt i don't know i just felt dishonest so his house was dirty yes it was dirty and it smelled so bad it was disgusting isn't it

01:32:32 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 7:

interesting oh that would do it for me i always wonder how people live sometimes and i always wonder if like somebody who is really well put together which vincent it sounds like you kind of have yourself put together in your pictures and stuff and in person he said that he was okay

01:32:45 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 4:

i mean it was nice it wasn't that he was a bad person but the whole thing just felt dishonest

01:32:52 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 7:

OK, because I always wonder sometimes if you can go and look at their place, because sometimes there are those people that are really, you know, good looking. They dress nice. They may smell good in person. And then you go to their house and you wonder if they haven't cleaned their toilets in a while or somebody's personal space says so much about them.

01:33:12 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, it really does.

01:33:14 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I don't spend that much time at my place. I'm usually out. It's like you wear makeup. So, how is that any different?

01:33:22 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Catfish.

01:33:23 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

That is comparing apples and bananas. That's not even, like, what?

01:33:28 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 6:

I mean, no, she's saying I catfished her. Like, so my social media makes me look put together. But, you know, I don't spend a lot of time at home. I'm out and about.

01:33:38 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 7:

So, your place is just messy because you're not there as much.

01:33:40 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 3:

But I think maybe catfish was the wrong word to use, Kelly. but I kind of get what you're saying of he came off very put together and you got a certain depiction of him in your head and then when you met him in person and saw his home, it was just very different.

01:34:01 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 7:

You know what this is like, Kelly and Vincent? This is like our very own Shannon. Why? Go look at her car.

01:34:09 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, go look at her right now, though.

01:34:11 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 7:

Why? Did you just clean it?

01:34:12 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

I went to Jack's yesterday and did the basic plus, so I got the inside clean, too.

01:34:16 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 7:

Shannon is one of those people that always seems so put together, right? She always looks nice. She's always, you know, look at her. I mean, seriously. Go look at that car sometimes. The car is clean.

01:34:26 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 3:

It's very cluttered, though. It is. It's sports stuff. It's donations. It's returns.

01:34:31 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 7:

I remember back at the old radio station parking next to you one time, and I thought you were living in your car. I was like worried. It does look that way.

01:34:37 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm not mad at me. Snacks. I'm not like if you go into the house and it's just a little junky like maybe you know there's a coat on the thing or there's something on the floor that's different that's what I'm saying though but dirty is dirty some people will use that term and say oh their house is dirty when

01:34:52 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 3:

they just need to clean was it cluttery or was it filthy it was filthy it was filthy I tried to say

01:35:00 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 6:

Like, you know, I guess my feeling is just like, look, we didn't, like, hook up or anything. But if, had I was going to invite somebody over to my house, even if I was a little messy, I would have made the point to clean before that.

01:35:14 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 9:

Was it premeditated, though? Or were y'all out and saying, let's get back to the crib?

01:35:17 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 3:

But it's even better if it wasn't, because then that shows you genuinely how they live.

01:35:23 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. I mean, nobody's ever complained about my house before. So I think this sounds like maybe you're a bit of a need for you.

01:35:32 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 3:

Cav, have you ever had somebody come over to your apartment and say, like... I mean, Lydia and Bianca came over. To be fair, they said it was cluttered, that front row.

01:35:42 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, it said stuff everywhere. They didn't say it was yuck. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Would you stop dating somebody based on this, the fact that they live in a dirty place? What's up, Ashley? Hi.

01:35:56 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. My comment is just that, you know, she's entitled to, obviously, like Shannon said, some of us really value, like, our space. And so when you have the expectation that somebody else will do the same, you know, and then when it doesn't end up that way, she can have that opinion. But why, I don't know, to me, why be a coward and not just simply send a text, hey, it was nice meeting you, it's just not going to work out. And then you can block them or you could disappear or you could answer the call and let them know. You know, most people won't get the call.

01:36:29 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 9:

Kelly, why not just tell him over the phone? Why have us be the ones to talk to you?

01:36:35 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, to be honest, it's because the whole thing felt dishonest from the jump. And I just didn't want to, I don't really know who this person is. You know, like if it was somebody who put on this presentation that they were one way and it turns out they were the complete opposite. I don't need to communicate with someone like that.

01:36:51 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 9:

The complete opposite.

01:36:52 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, that doesn't really, that sounds like a little pot and kettle, right? because it's a little dishonest to, like, just be like, everything's fine and then just drop off the face of the earth.

01:37:03 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 9:

It's a dirty pot and kettle. We know that the pot and kettle are black because it's got dirt all over it from you not cleaning it. What's going on, David? The inside of it.

01:37:13 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I think she's being a little ridiculous here. It sounds like she thought he was handsome and rich, and she gets there and finds out he's just a normal dude.

01:37:24 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

Let's be fair, she never, ever mentioned financials here. So you're making an assumption.

01:37:32 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 7:

Well, maybe a little, but I mean, that's kind of what she was hinting towards there. I did not get that from her at all. Who cares if his house has a little bit of a messy appearance?

01:37:43 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 9:

It sounds like a guy with a messy house. Is this a guy with a messy house right now?

01:37:46 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

She didn't use the word messy, though. She used the word filthy and dirty.

01:37:50 - 01:37:57 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. Hold on a second. That was definitely a messy guy. What's up? Initial A, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

01:37:59 - 01:37:59 | Unknown:

Hello?

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 9:

You're being voice disguised. Hi, what did you want to say? Hi, guys.

01:38:02 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 2:

I love you guys so much. We love you. We love you, too.

01:38:06 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 9:

What's up?

01:38:06 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 2:

I haven't dated in years, and the guy started dating. He seemed well put together as well. He has his construction company. And when I went over to his house, it was filthy. He had cat litter, dirty socks everywhere, work boots everywhere. There was no excuse to smell as bad as it did.

01:38:31 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 9:

But in person, he was great, but his place was bad, huh?

01:38:36 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes. And then two of his exes reached out to me, and they say he was fake. He was just using women for money.

01:38:45 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 9:

Oh, that's interesting that you actually ran across the guy being kind of a scammer. Kristen, what's going on, Kristen?

01:38:54 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I was just going to share that I did this guy for far too long. And the first night I stayed at his house, it was so messy that the next morning I could hear, like, dirty, messy, that I could hear mice walking around. Oh, my God. It should have been a red flag, and I should have gone the other way, and so I'm saying this girl needs to just go with her gun as much because I regret that.

01:39:21 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 9:

Not the neighbors. Could you imagine? What would you do? The rats coming out of the walls. All right, second date update.

01:39:29 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update. And more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the Third

01:40:00 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 2:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending this morning and the dirty on the 30 yesterday morning was really an unbelievable show. If you didn't see the video of it, you should. You should go listen and see the Instagram or the Facebook post. But Shannon, talking about the emotions of Lucy going to middle school and, you know, going to be promoted from fifth grade.

01:40:21 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 1:

That was not the topic.

01:40:23 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 2:

I know, but you got into your feels and your feelings, and people that are listeners of the show are the greatest ever. I don't know how many comments you read, but yesterday I read through some of the comments, especially the ones on Facebook. There were, like, books of things that people were writing, and then I was out, and I ran into three listeners that all commented on that, including one woman as I was standing out in front of Dr. DePilla or Dennis office who said that it got her crying because her daughter also is going to be a fifth grader moving on to sixth grade. So that was a cool thing.

01:40:59 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 1:

That's very nice. I got home and my husband goes, wow, you ugly cry.

01:41:06 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

It was cool. It was a good moment.

01:41:09 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 1:

We got some breaking dirty right now. First off, I want to mention this because this is part of the story. spotted Chris Brown's manager delivering him a bag of KFC to the UK jail where he was supposed to stay for the next couple of weeks after being denied bail which I thought was interesting because I didn't know that you could basically door dash into the jail but different country there you can uh however and like I just said breaking just moments ago he's out which means the tour is on He's out on $6.7 million bail. A little caveat here, his passport going to be held by lawyers and police until he needs it in a very elaborate arrangement that will allow him to fulfill his tour dates in Europe, the U.S., and Canada. Remember, he was arrested in Manchester, England last week, charged with a bottle attack at a nightclub in 2023. But he is out on bail, and the tour is on.

01:42:03 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Hey, take that KFC to go, baby. We out of here. That's a lot of money, by the way, that he's got to come up with for bail. Yeah. That's big money. It sounds like he got it. It sounds like he got to come up with it. I know, but it sounds like they think he's a risky risk unless that's how London does things.

01:42:17 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 1:

And for police to maintain possession of his passport, too.

01:42:21 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:42:22 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Haley Beaver defending her marriage in the newest issue of Vogue.

01:42:26 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 2:

Which, wait, real quick. If they maintain his passport, he can't leave London then, right?

01:42:29 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 1:

No, so what it is is a team, basically, is keeping their passport in their possession. And then when he is traveling from country to country, they will, I don't know how the arrangement actually works, but somebody will make sure that it is there for him, and then they'll take it back.

01:42:48 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:42:49 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 1:

And they'll keep doing that until, you know, whatever happens, happens.

01:42:52 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 2:

The majority of his dates that are coming up are in the UK, though.

01:42:55 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Hailey Bieber on the cover of Vogue, addressing all of the ongoing public scrutiny despite just celebrating her seven-year anniversary with Justin Bieber. Lots and lots of rumors swirling about their relationship. She tells the magazine, you would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, but no. She opened up inside about the challenges of postpartum life, describing it as a quote-unquote total mind F. She did shout out her husband for his unwavering support, noting his experience with fame has actually helped her a ton manage the media scrutiny of herself. Justin also in the dirty this morning for posting a congrats to his wife for making the cover of Vogue. But then in the caption, telling the story about how he recalled a fight that they had gotten into and he was so pissed off at her that just to get a dig in, he said he will never, ever, ever be on the cover of Vogue. He said he just was mad and wanted to get even with that comment. And now he's eating his words because she's on the cover of vogue interestingly though he deleted that caption and it's now just a bunch of emojis y'all cooked them y'all shamed them when asked about his plans for the upcoming celebration at mission mission impossible the final reckoning premiere on monday evening and i say upcoming celebration of father's day specifically tom cruise got real awkward with the e-news reporter that asked him that question because he hasn't seen his daughter with Katie Holmes, Suri, in at least over a decade. Hey, you know, just having fun, man. Making movies, big adventure, having a great time. That's how he's going to spend his father's day. I don't know why they would ask him that question.

01:44:35 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 2:

I've met Tom Cruise's son.

01:44:38 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:44:39 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 2:

Who actually is a really, really good guy.

01:44:41 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:44:42 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 2:

And I will tell you, he's got a really close relationship. His son is adopted. he's adopted he and Nicole

01:44:49 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 1:

is his name Connor

01:44:49 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Connor yeah and Connor does music he's a music producer but he's a great guy but he and his dad I think have a great relationship it's interesting that he and Suri have no relationship no relationship She's 19 now. I mean, Katie Holmes really just raised her. I want to say the last time Tom Cruise saw her, she was like five. That's crazy. I could be wrong, but I mean, give or take a few years.

01:45:10 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 3:

Him jumping on the couch at Oprah? Oh, yeah. Man.

01:45:13 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Selena Gomez announcing a new collaboration with Oreo. The new limited edition cookie is inspired by her childhood favorite drink, horchata. So the cookies are cinnamon and chocolate flavored wafer. I cannot talk. Cinnamon and chocolate flavored wafers. Then they're filled with a duo of cream fillings. One with chocolate and cinnamon and the other with sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon.

01:45:40 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 3:

Jose's Tacos down the street has the best homemade horchata.

01:45:45 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 2:

01:45:53 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:45:59 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 3:

yes mojo in the morning um are we still live are we live i think so are we live like the whole show now are we are we are we live i just i i don't care are we live the whole show now or most of the show we live we live we live we live did you see me during the commercial breaks or what do

01:46:35 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 1:

you put up during commercial breaks uh no they can see you during commercial breaks but i was

01:46:39 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 3:

kind of i was kind of munching so i wasn't paying attention i'm like i'm sore so i go in today for my doctor my follow-up on my surgery doctor's appointment i'm gonna i think i'm gonna get my staples pulled out which will be very interesting i don't know if they'll let me videotape it but But I was going to see, do they do it with one of those little claw things like they do at Stapes?

01:46:58 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I want to videotape it. I want to see those.

01:47:01 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 3:

I'll see if they'll let me videotape it.

01:47:03 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 2:

Do they got to put you under for that or is that easy? No, it's like getting stitches removed, don't you think?

01:47:07 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think it is kind of like, well, now everything's dissolvable, right? All stitches and stuff like that. But so I'm getting those things out. I'm hoping that they tell me that I can take the sling off every now and again, because I'm literally in the sling for most of the day. Feel something under your chin. What do I got on my chin? Oh, it's like a little fuzzy ball? Listen, I got so much stuff dangling from me. I can't, because I got no control over the left side of my body. You said a few things today. No, I can't control it. Like, I can't do it. And then the other thing, too, is the sling. This is the worst. I was telling Chelsea yesterday, I go, I hope that they let me take the sling off or at least give me a new sling. And she goes, why do you want a new sling? I eat. And you know how I spill on my shirt all the time?

01:47:49 - 01:47:50 | Unknown:

Oh, no. I do.

01:47:50 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I, we, we laugh because our old agent Norm used to spill on himself all the time. And Shannon goes, you're turning into Norm.

01:47:57 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

Like every day, more and more.

01:47:59 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 3:

And so I'm eating and I'm eating like, first off, I ordered a steak last night. So we had Jay Alexander's. Okay. Went to Jay Alexander's and I had, I ordered a filet and a baked potato. Bad idea. It's like, it's like mom having to cut my, my food up for me. It was just Luke and I, cause Chelsea had a girl's night. And so Luke and I are there, and I'm like, Luke, can you cut my steak up for me? I had to have him cut it up for me. And it's so funny because he's cutting the thing up, and he's cutting them in pieces almost as big as the steak. And I'm like, I can't eat. He's like, can't you just stick it with your fork and eat it like a popsicle? No, you can't. That's professional. And then I'm eating a baked. I had a loaded baked potato. It was fantastic. By the way, this is a commercial for Jay Alexander's.

01:48:43 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm going there a ton.

01:48:44 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 3:

Jay Alexander's. Oh, they're so consistent.

01:48:46 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 2:

consistent they always have the best food so good but what you're saying is the sling smells so okay

01:48:52 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

so yeah so i'm eating my baked potato my loaded baked potato with butter and sour cream and bacon bits on the thing and as i'm eating it bacon bits and sour cream are plopping down on my sling they're getting in my hands i go home so at night i can take the sling off for the moment to change out of my clothes and put on like pajamas and i i can take it off for a second and i i kind of like i have to be really careful about how i move my arm because they don't want the the anchors that are in my shoulder to pop out or to to you know do something and so i'm really careful about how i am so i look down at me and i'm like there's some baked potato a little little midnight snack I'm not going to eat it.

01:49:35 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 2:

No, no.

01:49:35 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 3:

What you going to do? Throw it away? Yeah. You know what this is like? This is like when you go to the movies and you're at the movie theater, at the Imagine Theater, and you come home and you find popcorn in your shirt. It's a fact. And you got to eat it. You got to eat it.

01:49:50 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 2:

The way that you are talking about this.

01:49:52 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

It's so good. When I was younger and I used to spend the night over at my grandmother's house, one of my favorite things to do before bed was to have like Graham crack.

01:50:00 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 5:

and milk or something like that. And I used to eat the graham crackers in such a way that it would get stuck in the top part of my tooth, like in my gum area. Oh, they do. They'd get in the bed at night and like... Have a little snack while I was on the sleep. I gotta finish that rust. That noise is so gross. I used to be going at it.

01:50:22 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second here.

01:50:24 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 5:

It's like tobacco. He's just stuffing up there.

01:50:26 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 6:

Do I want to take this line out? Are these lines, or are they going to make me scared about taking the staples out? Adriana, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's up?

01:50:36 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. I was just saying that you should watch a video beforehand before you get your staples taken out. Why? Maybe I'll prepare you a little bit. That's a lot of stitches, and then I know watching that's kind of a little weird for others. I don't know. Maybe not for you, but.

01:50:52 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 6:

Wait, won't I get more scared knowing how they do it?

01:50:56 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 4:

yeah but like at least you're prepared beforehand i don't know i should have passed out in front of

01:51:02 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 6:

them i don't like i don't know what it would be like uh i i don't know what it's gonna be

01:51:07 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 5:

is it adriana yes have you broken something or had surgery recently where you had to watch a video

01:51:13 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

well yeah i'm i'm in the medical field but i also had a spinal surgery when i was 13 and watched that surgery before and it was pretty cool i can't do that i cannot watch the

01:51:24 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 6:

surgeries i did it before i had uh my heart surgery i watched how they do the heart surgery and it scared the crap out of me i almost didn't show up that next day it was oh then never mind don't watch anything don't be prepared just go in oh no i'm like so fearful of this i i the surgery on this shoulder was worse than the heart surgery people think i'm crazy when i say this to you i'd do heart surgery not that i want heart surgery again but i would do this over open heart surgery over this shoulder surgery is no joke i told you the story didn't i that tj lang reached out to me i don't think i don't think you told me tj lang who played for green bay packers and the Detroit lions the pride of brother rice high school good friend reached out about shoulder surgery and he told me he's like man he goes i cried like a baby when i had my shoulder surgery so and tj is a big freaking guy what's up kristin hi it's mojo in the morning good morning mojo i've

01:52:17 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 3:

been a nurse for over 35 years i've taken a million staples out over the years they will use a little staple remover just similar to a regular so listen oh no staples in a person they don't curve underneath like staples do you know regular staples they just go straight down they'll just pop right out with a little tool you'll feel like a little tiny pinch it's not even gonna hurt and it'll be done in like a minute or two it's really not a big deal okay It won't even bother you. I promise you. You'll be just fine.

01:52:47 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 6:

That makes me feel good knowing that. I promise. You'll be good. Do they put the staples in like you do just to staple in a bunch of paper together?

01:52:55 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 3:

It is similar to that, but yeah, it's similar to that.

01:52:58 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 6:

It's wild that I have this whole row of staples that are right in my shoulders. What's up, Polly? Hi.

01:53:05 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Good morning to you guys. Good morning.

01:53:30 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 5:

I don't know I wonder if they'll get it they just texted me and said tell them to bring the staples in I'm like I ain't trying to see that would you keep them

01:53:38 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 6:

01:53:47 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 1:

them in our stapler here actually we don't even have staplers well that's the thing i was going

01:53:52 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 6:

01:53:56 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

she brought that from home you're not even allowed to do that jessica what's up jessica

01:54:01 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 2:

01:55:39 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 2:

01:55:45 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 1:

Instead of the, it's like, what is it?

01:55:48 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 2:

It's like an orgasm in a cup.

01:55:50 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's like orgasm in a cup.

01:57:20 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 1:

Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I'm having a garage sale next weekend. Lie number two.

01:57:25 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

Say Nick wants me to come over and take some stuff out of the house.

01:57:30 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Lie number three. I don't want you there for any of it. Lie number four. Nick says you're an old hoarder hoe. Quote, unquote. Okay. Wow. And lie number five.

01:57:45 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 3:

We already have somebody to buy all of the Beanie Babies.

01:57:51 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 4:

Is that a thing? Is that really? Yeah, my mom's got a whole bunch. She's been collecting them ever since they were huge, like, you know, 30 years ago. So these are her prized possessions. I mean, I would say more, like, precious moments are, but I know she's got totes of them. So to take something from her and tell her, like, oh, someone already put a deposit down for herself. She's going to freak out.

01:58:15 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

01:58:15 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:58:16 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. Five lies. Tell your mom. Speak up nice and loud.

01:58:30 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Hey, Mom. What's going on? Nothing.

01:58:35 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 4:

You busy? Not what you need. Nothing. I wanted to ask you some questions. Me and Aaron have been talking about what we're going to do this week the next weekend and uh we were talking about having a garage sale are you okay with that

01:58:48 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 5:

absolutely i i have to friday morning i'm supposed to be going to ann farbs to work well it's it's fine i don't want you saturday night i have to pull sunday we're going to the mom mom you don't

01:59:01 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 4:

have to do any of it i don't want you part of it all me and erin kind of have the whole plan evolved about what we're going to do yeah that's fine that's fine um i was talking to nick last weekend when i came over about how i was working on my car and stuff and uh he told me i can come over and take some stuff in the house he's got stuff and he figured uh you would be okay with it and uh you wouldn't have a problem with it for what like stuff that sells the garage sale

01:59:26 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

like all your garage sale stuff are you crazy i'm having a garage sale john i don't have a job

01:59:31 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 4:

are you having one are you having one next weekend i have stuff too that's what i said i know you typically do it on memorial weekend But yeah, like I said, you don't need to be there I don't want you to hurt yourself You don't push yourself, don't worry about it

01:59:49 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 5:

I don't mind coming and hanging out

01:59:51 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't need you It's okay I'll let you know if I do, but I'll be fine

02:00:00 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

So, on that note, you know, me and Nick were making a joke. And he mentioned that he, I figured you'd wanted the no. He basically called you an old hoarder hoe.

02:00:19 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 4:

You know, you're like, what? That's how I make my money, honey. You know, now I don't have, I can't take care of that baby anymore. I know, I know.

02:00:25 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

You're disabled and you got, I know, and you're not babies. Yeah, I understand that. I understand money's tight. I totally get that. But I'm having a big sale at Uncle Jim's the first Saturday, the first weekend in June. All right. So my other question to you is, you still got a whole bunch of Beanie Babies? Because I got a guy, Aaron's friend, someone from work, I don't know, is looking for him for his kid. And I knew you had, like, totes of them. So he already, like, gave him a hundred bucks. Yeah, but I don't know where they are.

02:00:50 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

I don't have totes of them anymore. You don't? What? I don't have totes of them anymore. I sold a lot of them.

02:00:57 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 3:

But I do have some. jennifer told me that you had someone like in the basement or something i don't know

02:01:02 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 4:

there's so much in the basement john you can't even move i don't even know what's down there

02:01:08 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 3:

it's ridiculous uh you know that's why uh i just wanted to know because

02:01:13 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 4:

that's why i'm in order because i got everybody else's at my house well you don't have any of my stuff no i don't mean yours

02:01:21 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 3:

his wife his two kids you know yeah i mean you you do you do tend to go to uh other like help other people and bring home stuff always but that's besides because i always have to have

02:01:36 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 4:

stuff to have a garage sale right john who you calling because you need stuff for a garage sale guess what jack you've got it that's true that's true you can't have a garage sale if you don't have so if you're going to donate it i take it first and try and sell it and then i donate it But I keep the good s*** Because you gotta have s*** to sell s*** Believe me, I got this s*** So for sure you can have some stuff

02:02:01 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 5:

You got it You got that s***, don't you? Too much s*** Lots of s*** So much s***, you don't know what to do with it all No

02:02:12 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Who am I talking to?

02:02:14 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you doing Jacqueline? This is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning

02:02:18 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 4:

02:02:49 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 5:

02:02:57 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 4:

She got a mouth like a sailor, too. I'm not. I don't normally. I don't talk like that. You ask my son, he'll tell you. Oh, sure.

955 let's go my favorite is uh a 734 number has just entered the cash contest they thought 800 times they sent us 800 text messages from the same number their uh 734 the last four digits are zero four four zero so you don't know the middle um they entered like 800 times the problem is they entered on our text line and that's not how you enter the contest no you gotta go to mojointhemorning.com listen that poor person just wasted all those text messages uh on sending all those texts so you still have time you can go enter money the word money on mojointhemorning.com Under the cash contest. I don't know how you physically can do it that many times. That's a lot of times. So it's a bot.

02:06:55 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 3:

They got to set up a certain way. You think so? I'm asking.

02:06:57 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 5:

Or that it's somebody there that has a lot of time on their hands, and we love you for that, but we want you to win some money. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. I don't know what the answer is to this, but it doesn't seem right. She's planning her proposal.

02:07:13 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 2:

So this is not somebody that I know personally. It is, I would say, a friend of a friend, but she's not really a friend of mine. She's my friend's friend. So my friend's friend. Okay. Anyway. But she is planning every single detail of her proposal, which she knows is going to happen because she's planning it.

02:07:34 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 5:

Aren't you supposed to, with a proposal, aren't you supposed to be surprised and there's supposed to be some element of not knowing what's going to happen?

02:07:42 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 2:

For most people, yes. That's how I wanted it to be. But she and her boyfriend are going on a trip here in the next couple of weeks. I think they're going to Mexico. It's a warm weather destination. It doesn't matter. But her demands for this proposal are very, very specific. Okay. In addition to, she has already designed her ring down to the last detail. Now, to be fair, I did tell Wes, I want a pear-shaped diamond. That's about all I had told him. Okay. Hold on a second. I did say that.

02:08:09 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 5:

You bringing yourself up in this.

02:08:10 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:08:11 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 5:

You planned that Paris proposal, didn't you?

02:08:14 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

If I could pull something like that off.

02:08:15 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Because whenever you hear a topic and somebody goes, a friend of mine.

02:08:19 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 2:

No, this is, this is like, this hasn't happened yet. This hasn't happened yet.

02:08:23 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 5:

Because if that was you, that would be. That was not me. That would be a little crazy.

02:08:26 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 2:

I give all credit to Wes there. Okay, good. That was amazing.

02:08:29 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 5:

Because that would make me go, okay.

02:08:32 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would have worn a different outfit. Anyway. Oh. Okay, so for this girl, she designed her ring. I almost want to say she's paying for her ring, but the proposal has to take place. On the second night of this trip. For what reason, I don't know. I think maybe they arrive the first day, so she wants to get acclimated, whatever. Proposal has to take place on the second night. They hired, she hired a photographer to document the whole thing. Her boyfriend, soon to be fiance's outfit, was totally purchased head to toe by her. Obviously, she already has her whole outfit. She has the music picked out for the post that she's going to make on social media.

02:09:13 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 5:

announcing the engagement.

02:09:15 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 2:

I mean, when I say every detail, every detail.

02:09:17 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 5:

Is she planning her divorce? Because she's guaranteed this relationship's not going to last.

02:09:21 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 2:

But my friend was saying to me, I'm so curious to see the post when she actually makes it because is she going to, is there going to be a surprise face? Is she going to fake being surprised for the photos?

02:09:35 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Will her fiance even be in it?

02:09:37 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 5:

She fakes orgasms too, by the way. I guarantee you.

02:09:40 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 3:

I think this is, I think, And I don't know if you're finished or not But I think this is completely wrong And I feel like this is where our society And culture is heading into For a significant piece of the population It's less about Me and the person I'm proposing to And more about the show And everybody else It's because of social media Exactly Exactly. Social media has ruined everybody. It is. It has made people go on vacation and not be on vacation. They're going on vacation to take pictures of a vacation. You know, I, I, I think, and I find this with myself and I'm guilty of this too. I find myself going places only because we post social media and things like that. I find myself going places and not just enjoying the time. I find myself going, what's the picture going to be, you know, and it's stupid.

02:10:24 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 1:

For sure, because it's our day to post or whatever. This, though, to me is sad because I do think that it should be a surprise.

02:10:35 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 3:

Out of anything that you have in your life, this is the surprise moment, right? The proposal.

02:10:42 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and maybe a baby that you don't know the sex of or something. Those are surprises that you... But there are still some... There are very few surprises that you get anymore.

02:10:51 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 3:

There are still people that find out the sex because they want to be able to decorate and do all the rest of that stuff, but your proposal is something that's a surprise.

02:10:58 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And I feel like theater when you start bringing all this into it. Like, let me make sure the photographer is there. Let me make sure the videographer is there. Make sure the hair. And then it becomes a show, an event, as opposed to like this moment that I share between this person that hopefully I'll be with for the rest of my life.

02:11:14 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Anybody disagree and think that what she's doing is great? And are there any listeners that are listening that have ever done this where they planned out everything? They planned out their proposal because to me, I think it's crazy, but you may have a reason why it's not.

02:11:33 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't agree if the reason or the notion is that you feel like all of this is acceptable is because hopefully this will only happen one time in my life and I want to make sure it's perfect. I don't agree with that philosophy. Yeah, that's not the way to do it.

02:11:47 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think this, too, is weird. I do think the photographer at the proposal call me crazy on this one to me seems a little weird and I'm telling you I thank God that you had it for yours because we got great web hits off of it or great social hits but when I say this to you like I think it's weird when you're doing this I think it's wonderful to have the documentation of the day but I think also it's kind of like there's nothing in the word organic kind of bothers me sometimes but there's nothing really organic about it because you're way too thinking about every bit of the thing so i actually living

02:12:30 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 1:

the moment i agree with you i was i was happy that he had hired a photographer for our proposal the cool thing about our photographer was i didn't know the guy was a photographer because we were in a space that had so many other people so i thought it was like i didn't know the proposal was happening obviously until it was and then when he pointed out the photographer it was some rando dude who i thought was a tourist however then once i knew you know what had gone down and this guy was a photographer and we were engaged and then the photographer stuck around and took photos it's so funny you can see the difference in our photos from our engagement where i you i hate taking pictures you guys i when we do photo shoots you know how weird i get i get weird and you can tell the difference in the change in me in the photos well it does it does definitely change

02:13:14 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

your demeanor because you know now that there is pictures there are pictures being taken my uh my niece got engaged over in chicago on uh that you know that bridge that there's a the bridge that the river they die die green she lives in chicago and there was a photographer that took pictures from a distance and it was cool to see it he wasn't close enough like it was nice to see it from a distance and see her shock she also was in yoga pants and a t-shirt So she was really pissed off over the fact she wasn't dressed up for the thing, but it was neat to see that whole thing. But then it was like, they kind of like just did the few photos and then the photographer left, um, because she was like, I'm not taking more pictures. I don't need any more pictures. This is all I wanted was to have, be with him. And then, then you're taking like you and Wes had to do a whole bunch of photography stuff.

02:14:04 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 1:

Cause you guys basically was our engagement photo shoot then.

02:14:08 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

But then you're kind of away from the whole thing. Like, I will say this to you, my wedding proposal was way not even romantic at all. We were come home from a bar one night and Chelsea had already been wearing her ring. And so she knew that she had, that I had it and we were both drunk and I rolled over to a song playing on the radio and just said, will you just marry me? And I, and I proposed to her, but I will say this, like we have no photos, nothing of that. To me, we will have the story forever. And I think that this is my problem with what this, you know, particular woman is doing by planning this whole thing. She's not letting this guy be himself. Like she's being the person. And this is the one moment where you are hearing this person tell you how much that you mean to them. And even if it's something as simple as he just gets down on his knee in the morning while she's getting ready to take a shower.

02:15:00 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 2:

That at least is him, right? It's got to be true to who you are in your relationship. Michael, what's going on? What do you think of this?

02:15:07 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 3:

I think it's absolutely crazy because she's going to be controlling him, and I think he needs to have a prenup time.

02:15:15 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, let's put it this way. She might plan the prenup herself.

02:15:19 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

No kidding, right?

02:15:20 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that's crazy. It's very controlling. She's definitely taking control of that whole situation. Shelly, what's up?

02:15:28 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. I'm feeling pretty bad for this guy here. I mean, he can't even come up with a proposal, and I feel like she thinks he's not good enough for her already. This guy is signing up for a lifetime of drama that this woman is going to dictate his every move. It's so sad. Like, let the guy surprise you. Let him show you himself how much he loves you instead of telling him how much he loves you and how it's going to go. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.

02:15:51 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of like the women who go and give birth to a baby and have, like, makeup put on them, and they get ready. Instead of just going and delivering and putting on that, you know, that.

02:16:05 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's been one of my greatest moments just happen when they happen and what you look like and what you're wearing and having everything all planned out. It's just nothing. It takes away from the actual joy and the reality of what's going on and the commitment. This is sad.

02:16:19 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 2:

I love the pictures that people post that are obviously not staged. Like, it's them, you know, with the ugly cry or the ugly, you know, I didn't put any makeup on. Like, I'm, you know, not dressed really nice. I love those pictures. But I also know that a lot of people like to see the beauty. You know, they like to see everything kind of planned out. And this girl probably has a hell of a social media following. What's up, Dwight? How you doing?

02:16:49 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 6:

Hey, my girl. How y'all doing?

02:16:51 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on? What are you doing?

02:16:53 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 6:

So my comment was, I feel like, like you mentioned earlier, you mentioned that social media is playing a big role in why all of this needs to be, like, all of the fans here that are trying to go into proposals now. Right. And I feel like social media plays a role in that because it's starting to make it the standard. Like, women are going, if you can't propose to me the way Mojo proposed to Chelsea with the Doves and all that stuff. You're right.

02:17:20 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't want everybody's comparing to everything else instead of their own thing.

02:17:25 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 6:

And Kev, Kev has mentioned before that comparison can be the peaceful joy. Yes. And I got lucky because my wife is what I like to call a heartfelt girl. She didn't need all of that. I proposed to her about a riverfront. I had a book made that, that kind of told us how we came to be here. And at the end it asked her to be my wife.

02:17:48 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:17:49 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 6:

So that,

02:17:49 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 2:

that, And you know what? She loves it, and she loves you, right?

02:17:53 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, definitely.

02:17:55 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 2:

No, I agree. And by the way, that was a great call, Dwight, and I agree with you. I think that we all just compare ourselves to everybody else. Wendy, what's going on? Wendy's a photographer. Hi. How you doing? Good morning.

02:18:08 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm great. How are you?

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

02:18:11 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, I am a photographer down in Hilton Head Island, and we do three-a-week ambush engagement photos, and it is just hilarious but it's always the groom that hires us what is what is an like ambush engagement photos what do you mean well we have to go we have to go incognito the girl does not have any idea yeah yeah and so we like you know hide in the bars and or you know on the beach or we look like we are just a regular tourist and but we do three a week of them i know you got some funny stories oh my god sometimes sometimes we have um mother-in-laws or if you know future mother-in-laws arranging it but um but man there is a blast but tell tell this poor girl that's doing this your friend uh she's going to be divorced in six months and will you be there

02:19:05 - 02:19:16 | Speaker 2:

02:19:16 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 5:

tavon what's up tavon hey how's it going what's going on nothing much hey i i just want to say i've been seeing this more and more a lot lately but women proposing to men i feel like at this point she might as well just right exactly that is so true and that's pretty much what she's doing

02:19:40 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 1:

at this point i almost wonder if she's going to write what he's gonna say i bet and i bet she's

02:19:46 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 2:

gonna write his his vows for him too deidra what's up hi um honestly i personally don't agree

02:19:54 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

with it i would like to be surprised as well but i'm also that person of i don't i don't know We'll go.

02:20:00 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 2:

What if he enjoys her taking charge? What if he's open to letting her plan everything so that he can watch her have fun and enjoy the planning process and getting everything she wants? Because if it's between them, as long as the groom is okay with everything, I'd say why not?

02:20:18 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 5:

You know what? That is a very fair point, and I don't know the answer to that.

02:20:22 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 4:

Man, no man want a girl acting like this. I'm going to tell you that right now.

02:20:27 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 3:

No. Yeah.

02:20:27 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm not like boss women. We do, but this is a little too bossy. This is overboard, boss. She's going to forget to tell him where to be. She's worried about controlling everything else. He's going to be in the room. Some men don't want to plan all that stuff.

02:20:42 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Do you think, though, that this guy has any say-so in anything? I guarantee you. The only thing he's got say-so in is probably paying for some of this. But that's about it. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. They do nice things for nice people out there. What's going on, Shannon? It's dirty.

02:22:04 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it was such sad news yesterday. George Wendt, best known for his role as Norm Peterson on the very beloved NBC comedy, Cheers. Passed away yesterday. Passed away in his sleep. He was at home. He was only 76 years old, which to me is not old. But grew up in Chicago. Got his start in comedy at Second City. Went to Notre Dame for college.

02:22:26 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny?

02:22:53 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 3:

I told this to some friends once and i used to watch it just in reruns i never watched it when it was on television like i would just see it in reruns every now and again i always wanted to be a guy that had a bar that i could go to your dad's one of those guys like he's got that local bar that's by your house that you just go and everybody knows your name for some reason i always wanted that and i wanted that as a birthday party once right i said this to chelsea i remember you talking about this i wanted to rent out uh the irish tavern it over in waterford rent it out and have the bar fill of just people that are friends of mine everybody just taking position like not like they're surprising me for a surprise party but where i walk in and everybody's like hey tom like they all get excited and i'm there and then we just hang out yeah because to me there was nothing better than when i would see that show and they would walk in and everybody just kind of like Everybody Knows Your Name.

02:23:46 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, that's the theme song. This story is particularly sad to me because that's one of my favorite memories with my dad growing up was we would sit on the floor of our living room with our backs to the couch and turn on cheers and he would give me, he would have a beer and he would pour a little Dixie cup of beer for me. And we would cheers during the theme song. But a little fun fact, by the way, about George Wendt. He is Jason Sudeikis' uncle, which I didn't even know until. You can skip that clip. Okay, the latest with Diddy's trial. Yesterday, Cassie Ventura's mom, Regina, took the stand and gave some very powerful testimony detailing the abuse that her daughter endured during her relationship with him.

02:24:28 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

On the seventh day of testimony at the sex trafficking and racketeering trial of Sean Combs, the mother of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, told the jury she took these photos of bruises she said Combs inflicted on her daughter after finding out she was dating another man. She was bruised, and I wanted to make sure that we memorialized it. Regina Ventura testified her daughter told her she was being blackmailed. Cassie sent her mom this email saying, Combs is going to release two explicit sex tapes of me. He has also said that he will be having someone hurt me and Scott Muscuti. The rapper...

02:25:00 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 2:

known as Kid Cuddy, who Ventura had started to date. I was physically sick, Ventura's mother said. The sex tapes threw me. She testified Combs demanded $20,000 to recoup money that he had spent on Cassie. I was scared for my daughter's safety, she told the jury, so she took out a home equity loan to secure the money and wired it according to instructions sent by Combs' bookkeeper. A few days later, she said the money was sent back. The defense did not cross-examine Cassie's mother, and she walked off the witness stand glaring at Combs. Jurors could hear from Kid Cudi as soon as Wednesday. At the end of the day, jurors saw some of the items authorities said they seized from Combs' Miami Beach home. That included two assault-style rifles and ammunition. Aaron Katursky, ABC News, New York.

02:25:42 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

I want to play you this clip, too, if you're wondering why Kid Cudi's testimony is so important. It all has to do with the racketeering charges that Sean Combs is facing.

02:25:52 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 1:

Remember, for racketeering conspiracy, the prosecutor has to prove two racketeering predicate acts. and one of those acts is arson so from kid cuddy what the prosecution is hoping to get that um sean combs had kid cuddy's car blown up yeah this is the first time in this we were

02:26:12 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 5:

talking a little bit about it off air this is the first time in this case where i felt like outside of him beating cassie which is clear and obvious in the video that we saw that this is

02:26:21 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 4:

like something that sticks this this racketeering chart i mean yeah kid cuddy could have some

02:26:26 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 6:

and really damning testimony and definitely a federal crime i mean i you know the racketeering the the the cassie he should you know have faced assault charges for that for sure but the federal charges i've often wondered how do they get federal charges on this guy this is where the federal charges are coming into play if there is racketeering again we got we got a lot more weeks

02:26:49 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 4:

of this trial oh yeah there's more tip of the iceberg you guys know the name cheryl burke Dancing with the Stars, right? Yes, if you are a Dancing with the Stars fan, Aunt Pat would know who she is for sure, Mojo. Well, she's been in the news a lot lately because of her changing appearance. Specifically, her face looks very, very different than it did several years ago. And so people are saying, what'd you do? Ozempic, did you have plastic surgery? And finally she said, enough is enough.

02:27:17 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm not on Ozempic. I'm not sick. I didn't get a face transplant. And no, I didn't get a brow lift. the level of projection that is happening and that i'm witnessing is wild she's saying she

02:27:29 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 6:

just lost some weight you know who's definitely changed i mean their look has changed pamela anderson you mentioned this the other day i went and looked at the side-by-sides of what pamela anderson looked like back in the day and how she is now no makeup no no hair extensions nothing but it is drastically different and i give her a ton of credit i do too i do too chris jenner lately

02:27:51 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, my sister literally one minute ago just sent me. So Kris Jenner had a lot of work done. Her plastic surgeon understood the assignment. I think she looks phenomenal. I'm going to show you the side-by-sides. I think I, hey, Kat, what up? Yes.

02:28:07 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 6:

More different than Caitlyn?

02:28:11 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 5:

I had to get that. No, I'm serious. Kris Jenner looks great, actually. I feel like Bruce Jenner walked in a plastic surgeon's office with a picture of Brooke Shields and say, this is who I want to be. Really? I promise you. Do that side by side.

02:28:23 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, flag football is coming to the Olympics. NFL owners actually approved a proposal that clears the way for players to participate in flag football at the 2028 Summer Olympics. So listen to this. Under the terms of this resolution, all players with an NFL contract are going to be allowed to participate for tryouts for the flag football teams. The Olympic rosters will be selected by each country's National Olympic Committee. But the little catch is only one player per NFL team will be allowed to participate on each national team. Now, I'd be pissed if Jared Goff hurts himself playing flag football. A player could play for their home country. It doesn't have to be the U.S., like from the NFL, but yeah.

02:29:02 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 5:

There are a lot of flag football guys who play it professionally that are not happy with NFL players trying to cross over into their sport. I've seen a lot of that on social. They have professional flag football. Yeah, really? Wow. They probably got day jobs, but.

02:29:27 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 6:

So yesterday I went with Chelsea to go to her dentist appointment. She got her teeth cleaned from Dr. DePilla. And I say this because I have to go with her because she picks me up at work at the end of the work because I can't drive for another week or so. and she had an appointment. So it's on the way. And we show up at his office, which by the way, Dr. DePilla's got a nice new office, which was cool. And, um, she's going to go back and go get her teeth cleaned. And I just decided I was going to sit in the waiting room and kind of like hang out. Well, I ended up falling.

02:30:00 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 4:

asleep in the waiting room and you know this when you go get your teeth cleaned it's probably what an hour process or so at the most right yeah well I fell asleep probably from the jump when I got there I just like was so exhausted and I'm falling asleep in the place and that his office uh is really busy like he's he's probably one of the busier dentists that I've ever seen and there's people just nonstop coming in and out. So if you saw a fat guy wearing a blue hoodie yesterday, sleeping in a dentist office, and it just so happens to be Dr. DePilla. Hi, guys. How you doing? Do you know if your mouth opens? Well, this is the funniest part. So I, I fell asleep and woke up to this really cute girl, probably 20 something year old black girl that was sitting next to me and I turn and I look and as I turn and I look at her I go was my mouth open the whole time and she looks she looks at me and she goes you look so peaceful I was like that is the greatest thing but I'm thinking to myself I'm like I can't believe I just fell asleep and I feel horrible and I feel bad um like taking up a chair the entire time because he just moved into a new office and he only had like four chairs in the front so i'm like sitting there and they're probably like going is this guy i looked like like a i don't know you're like a guy you know you ever walk in some of the you know through some of the detroit and the businesses and there's a guy sleeping in the entryway that's what i looked like except i was in the chair the wrong time i

02:31:34 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 3:

uh i took josiah he goes to swimming class down here and uh took him over to a cool little spot called like the peach cake factory or peach oh peach cobbler he's collar factory it's a lady in the windowsill sleeping like she got her peach cobbler up there you can tell she just had the itis but i think you're good just as long as you don't gotta like wipe the slob sleeping in public is okay if you gotta wipe the slob you gotta go to the car i do the head you gotta wake yourself

02:31:58 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 2:

back up but it's like violent how i do it and i know i do it on an airplane so if i don't have the window seat where i can actually rest my head i feel so bad for the people sitting next to me

02:32:08 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 4:

do you feel like you need a chiropractic appointment afterwards because of that yes

02:32:12 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and it's not like I ever am laying on somebody's shoulder or anything like that. It's just my head goes so far forward, and then I catch myself and go back up.

02:32:20 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 3:

So what do you do in that situation? Like, say the beautiful 20-year-old black woman nudged you because you started to fall asleep on her shoulder. Like, do you let somebody sleep on your shoulder? Well, that's the thing.

02:32:30 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 4:

She seemed so nice when I woke up. I bet she would let me do it. I've done that on a plane before. On somebody's shoulder. Oh, I've fallen asleep totally on strangers before, and they've actually been very, very nice about it. you know you're sitting i'm because well let's put it this way i'm already on top of them i'm already you know seat belt extender you know what i mean like hanging out so i do not get a seat belt extender no i don't i i did at one point in my life i had to oh it was embarrassing i actually one time i got on an airplane and i was so embarrassed because there was a very attractive girl sitting next to me and i didn't want to ask for the seat belt extender so i tried to hide the seatbelt looking like it underneath my fat roll you rather die oh yeah that was actually i'd rather not buckle up two motivations to go on a on a diet or take the jab when you go to your kid's school and you have to sit in their little chairs and their little desks that was one of mine and then going on an airplane and realizing that you're ready to cut off your circulation your belly on that thing i got stuck in one of josiah's i think it was in preschool or

02:33:34 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 3:

Something like that. Went to one of those parent-teacher conferences, sat in the little desk. It's the worst. Tried to stand, and the whole desk came with me. It's horrible.

02:33:42 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 2:

You guys, I sit in those desks, and I'm like, it fits perfectly. It's made just for me. Hold on a second. It does. Evil, crazy bitch. Oh, that's like not good.

02:33:57 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Mariah? Hi.

02:34:00 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So, I was down in Daytona over the weekend for Rockville, and 100 degrees, 57 bands. I fell asleep, like, the middle of the day during Rockville.

02:34:12 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gee. That's impressive. Oh, man.

02:34:15 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 1:

I was so, like, you could be amazed at the amount of people, like, we've seen that took a nap.

02:34:20 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 4:

Do people look at you weird when that happens? Like, do people kind of stare at you like you're crazy or something, or no?

02:34:27 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I don't think so. It was, like, the coolest group of freaking people I've ever been around.

02:34:32 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Was it alcohol-induced?

02:34:35 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 1:

No. It was so hot, I don't know how people could get drunk.

02:34:38 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that is interesting. When you're hot like that and you have that feeling, yesterday for me it was the weather stunk and it was kind of dreary. And you're in a dentist office where it's, like, calming. Like, honestly, I felt relaxed. It was really relaxing. I almost think that they should give you little, you know how they have at the airport? they have those areas that you can go take

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 1:

naps like you ever see that at all there's like there's like a relaxed spot you can take a nap

02:35:05 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah dr depilla have like a little nap place i'll come i'll come during the day and take a nap in your office he's trying to get that money baby we're not time to sleep as long as my my mouth is open you can throw in some some new chiclets in my mouth i'll be okay chiclets uh what's going on

02:35:23 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 1:

day how you doing hey how's it going good what's up uh not much i heard you fell asleep and i fall asleep all the time in public completely acceptable but i'm a loud snorer and i fell asleep on the plane last week um coming back after visiting my mom for mother's day oh no crying baby and then loud snoring guys did they say anything to you like did anybody say no everybody just had

02:35:47 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

headphones on so thank god if i'm sitting next to you i'm gonna make a mistake and bump you several times to wake to wake you up get that noise away if you did i would just okay i'm up

02:35:59 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 3:

somebody just texted in 313 just texted and said mojo i thought that was you that's embarrassing all right it is mojo in the morning uh phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548. I just got a brief time here right now. I don't have a ton of time, but I figure if you call fast enough, I can get you in for this topic, okay? Because I got to get to a whole bunch of other stuff. I want to ask this question. Why did you turn down sex? Just a random question. Why did you turn down sex? And it could be any reason, obviously. It's obviously your reason. but I bring this up because I was having a conversation with a group of guys and we were all just sitting there talking it was a group of people here around the radio station and I made the comment and I go well that's not the case because there is not a guy in the world that would say no to sex and one of the guys and they told me I can bring this up as a topic but I cannot mention who it is one of the guys goes I have turned down sex and I've you know had an opportunity to have sex turn down sex and i said why i said why is it the because i i'm under this belief that there is no guy that has ever turned down sex women call the shots on sex yeah like you shannon you have the power of the p you have it's it's the any versus the outie the guy no guy ever will say no to sex no guy will ever say no to sex i don't think i've ever if i if i knew i could have sex i would have sex literally if i knew i could have sex right now see you later guys you know what i mean i'm out of here and i said said this to to this group of guys and the one guy said i turned down sex once in my life and i go you did i said what you couldn't like perform and he goes no i knew i had streaks in my underwear. Oh, my God.

02:38:08 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 1:

And I was too embarrassed. I'm thankful he did. You can hide that. Yeah, but if there's streaks in the underwear, then your booty's muddy, too. Muddy is crazy.

02:38:22 - 02:38:25 | Speaker 2:

Am I right? Take off your muddy shoes, kids.

02:38:26 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 3:

But he said that that was the only time that he's ever, ever turned down sex. And I thought, okay, now that's a fair one. You got it, bro. You got it. Fair. You got it. No arguments here. That's fair. Yeah.

02:38:39 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you can go in the bathroom and wipe your butt up, bro. Yeah. But I turned on sex one time. You did? Yeah, like earlier in the show.

02:38:45 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 1:

You guys are saying one time. You've done it more than one time.

02:38:48 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. The only other times, and I don't count these, is when the pre-baking of the cookies had taken place, and I was just good after that. So I didn't want to, like, you know, fully bake the cookies.

02:38:59 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 3:

So good that you're already finished. Yeah, I was just like, you know, what's up?

02:39:02 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 2:

What did they say? That clarity came. Yeah. Well, we had a caller who called in earlier and mentioned that I was with her in Cancun. And it was at a friend's wedding. And if you have destination weddings as a single person, when you're young or old, whatever the case may be, and there are other singles there that are part of the wedding party, sex is going to take place.

02:39:22 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:39:23 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 2:

And I was in the bed with a woman who, very voluptuous up top, enjoyed everything she had to offer. But I was just in the bed and I was like, I just don't want to have sex with you. In my mind, I said this, and I just went to sleep. Interesting. She was fully ready to go. That sounds like you.

02:39:37 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 3:

That was during his Christian day.

02:39:41 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 2:

I wasn't fully that. I wanted somebody else. Okay.

02:39:44 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 3:

Have you turned down sex?

02:39:45 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

02:39:47 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 1:

More times than I could count. You see?

02:39:49 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 3:

Of course. What's the craziest reason that you turned down sex? Like, what's the one reason that you would go, oh, God, this is embarrassing to even tell you?

02:39:56 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I mean, honestly, it has to do with kind of what you said. I am really.

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 3:

super weird, and Wes can attest to this, if I've gone to the bathroom during the day and haven't taken a shower, and I fully wipe myself, people, and I use wipees, but it's psychological, I have to take a shower if I've pooped. Really? Yeah.

02:40:14 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 6:

Are you more worried about like, it may be some toilet paper back

02:40:18 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 3:

there? No, it's more like

02:40:19 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 6:

because I've seen that. For him

02:40:23 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 2:

being in that vicinity that I don't know how much more I can describe. You don't want to smell. I want to make sure

02:40:29 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 5:

is a 1 million percent good to go i um i i to me can never in a million years understand that there was a there are 99.9 percent of guys would have sex with a girl with it with a bad booty with a dirty booty i've seen toilet paper in the book and bypassed it and you're okay with it yeah so girls feel free to understand that guys are good um von why did you why did you turn down sex

02:40:57 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 1:

I turned out safe because I was in between jobs. So mentally I just wasn't there. Wow. I didn't want to. I couldn't, I couldn't perform well knowing that I can't even feed you after this.

02:41:11 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 6:

You had one job at the time.

02:41:12 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 5:

That's the job you're going to be worried about. That's interesting.

02:41:16 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 1:

You would think that that would be a,

02:41:22 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 5:

a moment for you. Like that you would think that that would be something that would bring up your mood a little bit but i ain't gonna lie to you von i'm not this is no joke and i and i'm i'm gonna tell you this there was there was times in my life it was probably in the last like five or six years where it's like you couldn't perform because you felt like your your testosterone was low or something like that where i was like oh man i just don't and i and i would have and i think chelsea liked those times i think those i think those are the times she wishes we go back

02:41:54 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 6:

to. I really respect Vaughn for calling in and saying that because that's not a lot of guys would admit that. That's true.

02:42:00 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Greg? How you doing?

02:42:02 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, doing pretty good. How about

02:42:03 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 5:

y'all tell? Good. Why did you turn down

02:42:05 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 1:

sex? Wasn't in the mood. Really?

02:42:09 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What guy's not in the mood? You were the guys that are married then to a nympho, too. You were married to a woman that wants it all the time, and we all go, what the F? Yeah,

02:42:20 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 1:

that's mine. You know what?

02:42:24 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 5:

That pisses me off. I've talked to girls like you that they're like, I want it all the time, and he doesn't want it at all. And I'm like, come on. Really? That's Greg?

02:42:36 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

Greg. Well, I mean, I do have it. It's just, you know, it's that time of the day where.

02:42:42 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 2:

You need a break sometimes.

02:42:43 - 02:42:45 | Speaker 1:

He's like, more easily. Exactly. Bragger.

02:42:46 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 5:

I can get it all the time. You must have like three sports cars to your girl.

02:42:50 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, right now I don't want a break anyways. You know, she's going through her woman cycle.

02:42:54 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 5:

Are you also the guy, too, that can eat anything and not gain weight? Because I always hate those people that can eat anything and not gain weight. What's up, Kat?

02:43:02 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I get rejected all the time by my husband. What? Yes, I do. I mean, I have a much higher sex drive than him. Like, in the beginning, you know, it was all the time, multiple times a day, blah, blah, blah. But now the novelty is worn off. So I try to instigate and he's not in the mood. how long have you all been married

02:43:27 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 6:

and when did you start to see the shoot

02:43:29 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 4:

we've been together for six and a half years you know what you need to do take my advice

02:43:36 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 5:

this is what I want you to do I want you to go out and get yourself something like really sexy and hot okay I want you to be laying in bed tonight what time does he come to bed usually at

02:43:49 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 4:

uh early he's working seven days a week right now so he's been kind of beat lately but before that

02:43:56 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 5:

i want you to put on some music put on like our sister station 92.3 mix with tony braxton or something playing in the background and i want you to pleasure yourself in bed while he walks in seriously if you're if you're a guy and you walk in on your girl just sitting and just act like it's normal and and he'll join in with you there's not a guy in the world that wouldn't join in with

02:44:18 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 4:

you? He would think something was wrong if he walked in and I was wearing something sexy. Really? He really would. You think you're cheating on him or something? I'm not a girly girl, so he would be like, what's going on? Are you dying? Just lay naked. Call us tomorrow. Seriously.

02:44:31 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 5:

And then call us, okay?

02:44:32 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I'll try that. Unbelievable.

02:44:35 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 5:

Who are these guys? Kitty cat. Suzanne, another one here. Husband rejects me after or I said husband rejects me after when she gets out of the shower. If he hasn't showered he won't have sex with you if he hasn't showered hi good morning so he has to

02:44:52 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

shower every time we have sex after sex he has to shower i get it and one night it was pretty late and he was like no

02:45:00 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 5:

But, you know, I don't feel like getting up and showering right now.

02:45:03 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I get it.

02:45:04 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 5:

He was tired.

02:45:07 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 2:

But you know what? At that moment right there, have dirty sex. You know what I mean?

02:45:14 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 3:

I just don't want to have sex with a woman named Suzanne. She sounds so much better than her name. Let me be honest with you. What's wrong with her name? I don't know. It just kind of threw me.

02:45:24 - 02:45:30 | Speaker 2:

Suzanne sounds like a... Suzanne. Suzanne. Kevin thinks that your nickname doesn't make you attractive. I'm sure you're very attractive.

02:45:31 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 3:

You sound incredible. Oh, thank you. I thought you was going to sound a bit different.

02:45:36 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 2:

What did you think? After you said, hey, this is Suzanne.

02:45:38 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 3:

I think of Roseanne.

02:45:40 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 2:

Roseanne.

02:45:41 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, I'll probably just say my name's Roseanne.

02:45:44 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 2:

You know what you need to do? You need to get some dude wipes and put them next to the bed so he can just clean himself off real quick, okay?

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, my kids are old enough now so that, you know, we can't really do it during the day, so I have to go down at night and go all to sleep.

02:45:57 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 2:

I like so. Yeah. Tell him to take a shower. Just say, get your ass in the shower. And then go in the shower with him. There we go. That's crazy.

02:46:05 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 5:

Well, what I usually do is just, you know, force him, you know, to just have to get up and shower.

02:46:09 - 02:46:09 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:46:10 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 2:

These guys, man. Seriously. You're the guys whose parents gave you all the great, the big wheel, the matchbox cars. And I got a book for Christmas. You're the guys. Those are the guys. You got the imagination. Santa Claus came to my house and gave me crap.

02:46:25 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 3:

The Micro Machines Tower. Yes. What y'all talking about? K'Nax. You didn't have that? I've never heard of micro-machine. Are you serious? That was before my time. Micro-machine? That doesn't sound fun. You're not that much older. What is a micro-machine? What is that?

02:46:41 - 02:46:41 | Unknown:

Really?

02:46:42 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 2:

That was a big... Hot Wheels? They're like Hot Wheels.

02:46:44 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 3:

They were teeny. What's up, Alexis? They're like the Polly Pockets of Hot Wheels. What is a Polly Pockets? Alexis. Good morning.

02:46:50 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? Now we're going off case. We're talking about sex here, not toys. What's going on, Alexis?

02:46:56 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Ripple. First time caller. I love you guys. Lex is on the phone. But I am in the same boat. I always want to bake cookies, and my husband is like, nope, nope. So, yeah.

02:47:12 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 2:

Now I'm getting frustrated. Mojo, let's see what he says. He's about to break up the swing. Now I'm, what's your husband's name or guy's name?

02:47:22 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 4:

My husband's name is Tom.

02:47:25 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 2:

That's my name. Wait, who is this on the phone?

02:47:28 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 3:

This is Alexis. Oh, okay. But she said Chelsea. No.

02:47:31 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Do you know how much my wife, Chelsea, wants to be married to that, Tom? Tom needs some testosterone or something. He needs something, you know, give him something. Come on. Yeah. Feed him some pineapple or I don't know, whatever. A little aphrodisiac. Get some oysters on the phone. Yes.

02:47:52 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, we, I don't know if this makes a difference or not, but we kind of like you guys have been married for a long time. we got married young and so it used to be more frequent and I don't know if it's because we've

02:48:03 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 2:

been married longer that you guys need I told Chelsea this I said one day this is what I want to do I'm going to leave the house for like an hour I'm going to come back and I'm going to pretend like I'm robbing the house and I'm going to role play with you where like I tie you up and then I steal all your stuff and she says how long are you going to be gone and I said maybe 45 minutes an hour she goes good enough time to call the west bloomfield police oh my god that's pretty much that's pretty much what my life is like so bro we should do a topic

02:48:38 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 3:

when role playing goes wrong oh my god tomorrow

02:48:42 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 2:

it's the second date update on mojo in the morning all right why are you not getting a call back Vincent isn't getting a call back And he's wondering what's going on Vincent This is a bummer man Although you know what equal opportunity For all those guys that don't call the girls back What's happening you're not getting a call back

02:49:05 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 1:

No I've been trying I've been texting I've been calling And no word back

02:49:11 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Well we were able to get a hold of her So we're going to find out exactly what's going on You like her though huh you'd like to go on another date

02:49:17 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 1:

I did yeah And I thought she liked me

02:49:21 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 2:

Let's figure out what's going on. Kelly is on the phone with us right now. Kelly, hi.

02:49:27 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:49:28 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 2:

Kelly, why aren't you calling Vincent back?

02:49:31 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 6:

He's a catfish. Damn. Like, 100%.

02:49:35 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 2:

How could he be a catfish? He's wanting to get a hold of you right now. What do you mean by that? He's a catfish.

02:49:40 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, because when I met him, so, like, he, on social media, right, so we met on social media, which is fine, and he looks like he looked like really put together on the internet and that was not the case in real life wait vincent just slobby you're not together

02:50:00 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 5:

say hi say hi to him kelly uh i'm like hi i mean you know no so no he's on the phone with us right now he can hear you say hello to him hi i mean okay but i just sort of like it doesn't change

02:50:15 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 4:

like what do you mean i wasn't was it his appearance what was it specifically like he was so he was really like classy looking i don't i don't like i sound like my grandmother when i said that but he was it's like very classy looking on social media and then when like the date was fine and but then we went to his house and it was not it was like gross it was gross like the whole thing was it just felt i don't know i just felt dishonest so his

02:50:45 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 3:

house was dirty yes it was dirty and it smelled so bad it was disgusting isn't it interesting No, that would do it for me.

02:50:55 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 8:

I always wonder how people live sometimes. And I always wonder if, like, somebody who is really well put together, which, Vincent, it sounds like you kind of have yourself put together in your pictures and stuff. And in person, he said that he was okay?

02:51:08 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he was nice. It wasn't that he was a bad person, but the whole thing just felt just on it. Okay. Because, you know.

02:51:15 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 8:

I always wonder sometimes if you can go and look at their place. Because sometimes there are those people that are really, you know, good looking. They dress nice. They may smell good in person, and then you go to their house, and you wonder if they haven't cleaned their toilets in a while.

02:51:30 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 1:

Somebody's personal space says so much about them.

02:51:33 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah.

02:51:34 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 1:

It really does.

02:51:35 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I don't spend that much time at my place. I'm usually out. It's like you wear makeup, so how is that any different?

02:51:43 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 1:

Catfish. That is comparing apples and bananas. That's not even that. Like, what?

02:51:49 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 7:

I mean, no. She's saying I catfished her. So my social media makes me look put together, but I don't spend a lot of time at home. I'm out and about.

02:51:59 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 8:

So your place is just messy because you're not there as much.

02:52:01 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 1:

But I think maybe catfish was the wrong word to use, Kelly. But I kind of get what you're saying of he came off very put together. And you got a certain depiction of him in your head. And then when you met him in person and saw his home, it was just very different.

02:52:22 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 8:

You know what this is like, Kelly and Vincent? This is like our very own Shannon. Why? Go look at her car. And if you look inside.

02:52:31 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, go look at her right now, though.

02:52:32 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 8:

Why? Did you just clean it?

02:52:33 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 1:

I went to Jack's yesterday and did the basic plus. So I got the inside clean, too.

02:52:37 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 8:

Shannon is one of those people that always seems so put together, right? She always looks nice. She's always, you know, look at her. I mean, seriously. Go look at that car sometimes. The car is clean.

02:52:47 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 1:

It's very cluttered, though. It is. It's sports stuff. It's donations. It's returns.

02:52:52 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 8:

I remember back at the old radio station parking next to you one time, and I thought you were living in your car. I was like worried. It does look that way.

02:52:58 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 6:

I'm not mad at that. I'm not mad. Like, if you go into the house and it's just a little junky, like maybe, you know, there's a coat on the thing or there's something on the floor. That's different than dirty. That's what I'm saying. Dirty is dirty. Some people will use that term and say, oh, their house is dirty when they just need to clean it.

02:53:14 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 1:

Was it cluttery or was it filthy?

02:53:17 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 3:

It was filthy. It was filthy.

02:53:19 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 6:

I tried to say.

02:53:19 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 3:

You know, the thing is, like, you know, I guess my feeling is just like, look, we didn't, like, hook up or anything. But if, had I was going to invite somebody over to my house, even if I was a little messy, I would have made the point to clean before that.

02:53:35 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 6:

Was it premeditated, though? Or were y'all out and saying, let's get back to the crib?

02:53:39 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 1:

But it's even better if it wasn't, because then that shows you genuinely how they live.

02:53:44 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I mean, nobody's ever complained about my house before, so I think this sounds like maybe you're a bit of a neat freak.

02:53:53 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 1:

Cav, have you ever had somebody come over to your apartment and say, like... I mean, Lydia and Bianca came over. To be fair, they said it was cluttered, that front room.

02:54:03 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's just stuff everywhere.

02:54:04 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 1:

They didn't say it was yuck.

02:54:06 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 8:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Would you stop dating somebody based on this, the fact that they live in a dirty place what's up Ashley hi hi guys um my comment is just that

02:54:20 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 2:

you know she's entitled to obviously like Shannon said some of us really um value like our space and so when you have the expectation that somebody else would do the same you know and then when it doesn't end up that way she can have that opinion but why I don't know to me why be a coward and not just simply send a text, hey, it was nice meeting you. It's just not going to work out. And then you can block them or you could disappear or you could answer the call and let them know. You know, most people won't answer the call.

02:54:50 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 8:

Kelly, why not just tell them over the phone? Why have us be the ones to talk to you?

02:54:56 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, to be honest, it's because the whole thing felt dishonored. jump and i just didn't want to i don't really know who this person is you know like if it was somebody who put on this presentation that they were one way and turns out they were the complete opposite yeah i don't i don't need to communicate with someone like that the complete opposite yeah

02:55:13 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

that doesn't really that sounds like a little pot and kettle right because you it's a little dishonest to like just be like everything's fine and then just drop off the face of the earth it's

02:55:24 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 8:

It's a dirty pot and kettle. We know that the pot and kettle are black because it's got dirt all over it from you not cleaning it. What's going on, David? The inside of it.

02:55:34 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think she's being a little ridiculous here. It sounds like she thought he was handsome and rich, and she gets there and finds out he's just a normal dude. Wait, let's be fair.

02:55:46 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 1:

She never, ever mentioned financials here. So you're making an assumption.

02:55:51 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 6:

well maybe a little but i mean that's kind of like maybe that's kind of what she was hinting towards there i did not get that from her at all who cares if his house has a little bit of a messy

02:56:03 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 8:

appearance this sounds like a guy with a messy house is this a guy with a messy house right now

02:56:07 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 1:

she didn't use the word messy though she used the word filthy and dirty yeah hold on a second that

02:56:12 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 8:

that was definitely a messy guy uh what's up uh initial a what's happening it's mojo in the morning how are you hello you're being voice disguised hi what'd you want to say i love you

02:56:23 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 4:

guys so much oh we love you too what's what's up i i just i haven't dated in years and the guy started dating he seemed well put together as well he has his construction company um and when i went over to his house it was filthy um he had cat litter dirty socks everywhere Work booths everywhere. Yeah. There was no excuse to smell as bad as it did.

02:56:52 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 8:

But in person, he was great, but his place was bad, huh?

02:56:57 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes. And then two of his exes reached out to me, and they said he was fake. He was just using women for money.

02:57:06 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's interesting that you actually ran across the guy being kind of a scammer. Kristen, what's going on, Kristen?

02:57:15 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I was just going to share that I did be with this guy for far too long. And the first night I stayed at his house, it was so messy that the next morning I could hear, like, dirty, messy, that I could hear mice walking around. Oh, my God. It should have been a red flag, and I should have gone the other way. And so I'm saying this girl needs to just go with her gun because I regret that.

02:57:42 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 8:

Not the neighbors. Could you imagine? What would you do? The rats coming out of the walls. So fast. All right. Second date update.

02:57:50 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

02:57:58 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 8:

All right. We're done. That's it. That's all she wrote. We're done. Kevin, say goodbye. See ya. We will be back tomorrow. Have a great day. Bye. 20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

02:58:13 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 6:
