You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 6:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:01:05 - 00:01:06 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:01:07 - 00:01:09 | Speaker 4:

Go. Party on the weekend. Come on.

00:01:09 - 00:01:23 | Speaker 7:

last weekend i went out with my friends and we got totally wasted well it sounds great to me

00:01:23 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 6:

to all those uh brave men and women who serve god bless you thank you for protecting us so that we can do stupid silly crap like this it's friday i can't believe it we live in probably the most gorgeous part of the country for this time of the year i mean you know you go down south and they're faced with lots of heat and uh crazy weather and then we've got nothing but nuts like what like well the weather's bad it's not nothing but nuts i mean it's not it's not great

00:01:59 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 3:

What are you saying? It is not great.

00:02:00 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 5:

I've never heard anybody talk about the weather and say we've got nothing but nuts. That's a new one. Well, I mean, we've got nothing but bad weather, I guess, is what I'm trying to say. Hey, are you okay over there? No, I'm not. We've got nothing but nuts.

00:02:11 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 6:

I'm sad, but I'm actually sad, but I'm happy. I know this is bad to say this. I have this issue with my shoulder, and I can't golf. I can't pretty much go out and be on the boat or anything like that. I can't swim. No, you're happy.

00:02:25 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 3:

It's crappy because you also have FOMO.

00:02:28 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 6:

I don't like that. Cappy is crappy. But this is pure Michigan. We're supposed to hear Tim Allen say something about a town named Ludington that I've never been to before in my life.

00:02:40 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 5:

Shout out Ludington. Home of the Nets.

00:02:43 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 6:

How come Tim Allen never talked about 50 degree weather in May and how great that can be? You're going up north this weekend, Chan?

00:02:52 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm going to the west side of the state. So my friend has a house between Holland and Saugatuck. Oh, Saugatuck. And so we're staying there, and the thought was to just throw the kids on the beach and let them run up and down the dunes and hang out at the beach all weekend. And now I am really trying to figure out what the heck we're going to do all weekend because it's not going to be that.

00:03:14 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 6:

You know what, though? Put them in the pool. I was talking.

00:03:16 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 3:

There's no pool.

00:03:18 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, put them in the lake. It's cold.

00:03:21 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 3:

They said it is the temperatures of the water. They're actually warning people it is very, very, very cold. Really?

00:03:27 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 6:

Let's Google it. Let's go. Let's go.

00:03:29 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 3:

I heard them on WWJ this morning say the water is very cold. It's too cold, bro.

00:03:36 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 6:

It's murky out here. But you know what? They always say that the water's cold until you jump in for a little bit.

00:03:44 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:

My kids probably don't care, but. I don't think you can work like that.

00:03:48 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 6:

Lake Michigan water temperature right now. According to the National Weather Service, they're saying in Michigan City, they say it's 53 degrees right now. So 53 degrees is what the water temperature is. Let's see what Saga Talk is. Saga Talk. Is that Lake Michigan there or Saga Talk?

00:04:13 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 3:

What do they know? I don't know if you're asking the wrong person.

00:04:15 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 6:

40, it says it's 44 degrees.

00:04:18 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're not going to spend the day.

00:04:20 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 5:

It's a cold plunge. yeah maybe wes will jump in do y'all uh do y'all do board games yeah so i that's what i did i packed

00:04:28 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 3:

like tons of that kind of stuff and like those towns are really cute we'll go hang out and walk around and um saugatuck has the the famous donut boats so we're renting those one of those tomorrow and going out on the water it's just like these big round they look like glorified inner tubes but they're motorized so we're doing that kind of stuff but like yeah i told the kids i was like

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

00:05:26 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 8:

00:07:32 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

I am picking up two new cats this weekend. Look at you. Chicken and Nugget.

00:07:39 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 7:

Chicken and Nugget. Okay, the names are cute. You're picking up two cats. Are you rescuing them or what are you doing?

00:07:46 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 4:

I am. Their mom is going out of state for surgery, and they were looking for a new place to live.

00:07:53 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 7:

You know what? That's very nice of you. You're a better person than I am because I've got to be quite honest with you. I don't think I could rescue a cat. I think I would have a hard time rescuing one, let alone two.

00:08:06 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 8:

Well, they've got to come together. Look, you said two new cats, which in my mind implies you have others. How many cats do you have in total?

00:08:13 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

i actually only have now the two my my previous two passed away after 16 years oh that's nice

00:08:21 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 7:

It's Squirrel. Squirrel. Hi, Squirrel. Squirrel. What do you got going on this weekend?

00:08:42 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 5:

Me and my girl are going to both take off. We're going to go door dashing. We're going to see what we can have some fun with. We're going to spend some time together. That's going to be my life. Oh, that's cool. You know what?

00:08:52 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 7:

I bet a lot of people will be door dashing this weekend. You'll make some bucks.

00:08:56 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 5:

We're going to see, you know. I'm back. I'm Mojo. I had a little street, but we good.

00:09:00 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 7:

All right, buddy. Well, you be safe, okay? Have a great weekend. Make some money.

00:09:03 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 5:

All right, you too.

00:09:04 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 7:

Tip those door dashers. It's Memorial Day weekend. I like this. All these people that are texting us right now, Shannon, you're great for going to Saga Talk. We canceled our trip. We're going to postpone it until 4th of July. A lot of people texting in saying that they're proposing. Stay away. I know.

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 6:

Because there's some reservations. I really like that.

00:09:22 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 7:

Is it tough to get them out there?

00:09:24 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 6:

I mean, a lot of the places don't even do reservations. It's so casual, which is what I love about it. But if it's not crowded, that'll be nice.

00:09:30 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 7:

Another texter here. This is 313 says, are you guys working today? I thought you would take off for a longer weekend. I like that. You know what? We are working. And that means, you know what? That means that you guys got to work with us. So we need to talk to you guys this morning and have some fun.

00:09:45 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:09:54 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 7:

It was the year of Antoine Dotson.

00:09:57 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Well.

00:09:57 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 7:

Remember him?

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Obviously, we have.

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 3:

A rapist in Lincoln Park. He's climbing in your windows. He's snatching your people up, trying to rape them. So y'all need to hide your kids, hide your wife, and hide your hugs because they're raping everybody out here.

00:10:12 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

Will Ferrell starred in The Other Guys.

00:10:15 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

We found a lot of stuff. From bodily fluid and hair samples, we determined that a bunch of old homeless dudes had an orgy in the car. Oh, God. Yeah. You know what that's called when they do that in there? It's called a soup kitchen. It's pretty rough stuff. Not long after that, a mama raccoon came along and gave birth on the floor. Placenta blew out all over the back window there. You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844 Mojo Live.

00:10:44 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 2:

844-665-6548. What year was that, Courtney? Hi. Hi, it's 2010. It was? Yeah, of course. You were actually, you're calling from Lincoln Park, it says here, which is not the Lincoln Park that Antoine Dodson was talking about. So there's another Lincoln. Yes, yes. But you should be hiding your kids, hide your wife, because you're going to be going to see Wiz Khalifa, DaBaby, and Sean Paul. Congratulations. Oh, thank you so much. I love you guys. We love you, too. You're the best. We love you, too. Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. You, too. Have a good day, you guys. Thank you. Take care. We'll give you some tickets now, more tickets. This is Tate McRae sold out. Tate McRae, text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500, and you could be winning tickets to go see Tate McRae. Tate McRae tickets, text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:11:45 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:11:47 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

So if you don't have plans for Memorial Day weekend, don't worry. We'll make them for you. We've got tickets to see the weekend. Going to be at Ford Field tomorrow night. Sunday night we'll give you some tickets coming up this morning listen to win Shannon with the

00:12:01 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 1:

dirty on the 30 right now what's going on Shannon well Jimmy Foxx is setting the record straight on the rumor that Diddy is responsible for his hospitalization last year we talked a little bit about that maybe it was in last week's dirty but he told the Hollywood Reporter stand-up comedy roundtable yesterday that he snuck his phone into the hospital during his time there because he couldn't wrap his brain around the fact that he had a stroke he was sitting in a hospital bed and he wanted to see what the outside world was saying about him. He recalled reading this story about Diddy trying to kill him, that Diddy poisoned him. And that's the reason he had a stroke and was in the hospital. And he said, no, Puffy did not try to kill me. He also gave some insight into his time at the hospital, saying that doctors, quote unquote, men in blacked him with medication, causing him to start hallucinating, speaking all sorts of nonsense. His psychiatrist ultimately decided to lower his medication dosage a dosage now remember he revealed in his netflix special a special that he suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke which almost took his life and at the doctor said if he didn't undergo surgery that he would die and that's why he was in the hospital speaking of diddy and we're going to talk in next hours dirty about kid cuddy taking a stand yesterday a great link there's some interesting stuff that came out of that but Something very random was revealed in court yesterday that had jurors eliciting visible reactions. And it was all about Diddy's strange habit of how he eats his cheeseburgers. Apparently, every time he has a cheeseburger, he has to have it with applesauce on it. That's the only condiment.

00:13:37 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:13:37 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 1:

It's stupid, but...

00:13:39 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 2:

Y'all don't do that?

00:13:39 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 1:

It came...

00:13:40 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever done that? Came as a surprise to everybody. I thought we all did. Really? Applesauce? Oh, I was like, I didn't know that was a thing. That's crazy, bro. That is wild. So, well, it's interesting. We were just having this conversation. Shannon and I were off the air and we're like, there's something that's telling us that this prosecution is not doing a job to prove that Diddy is.

00:14:02 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, the trafficking, the trafficking part of it.

00:14:05 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 2:

And it makes me interested when I hear, why are they bringing up his burger and applesauce? Like what, I don't know the context of it, so I can't explain.

00:14:14 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 1:

But I just think I know there's there's so much more to what was happening over the past two decades that they haven't brought up yet. Obviously, I have a really great inside source there, and I'm wondering if and when they are going to bring that up. And I hope they do.

00:14:30 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 2:

How long is the prosecution going to be out with their taking their side of of this case?

00:14:38 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, court court, they're off today and Monday for the holiday. so we won't have any updates on Tuesday, but Detroit rapper Skillababy targeted in a drive-by shooting on 8 Mile yesterday. Fox 2 Detroit's Jessica Dupnick with that story. Ron Gardner,

00:14:52 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

better known as Skillababy, a very well-known rapper here in Detroit and across the country, shot earlier this evening.

00:15:00 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

sources saying that he had two braze wounds also shot in the head. It all unfolded an eight mile earlier this evening, ended with his SUV smashing into the side of a building. Now, Redford Township Police are investigating. They got this scene cleared up very, very quickly, and right now they're working to make some repairs to the building that is behind me. But again, we are happy to report, though, that Skillababy is alert. Of course, Redford Police investigating. If you know anything about this shooting that's described as a targeted drive-by shooting you're asked to

00:15:33 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 4:

call redford township police wow that's thank god he's alive i mean that's crazy man prayers

00:15:39 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 5:

to skillet baby and his family he is an incredible artist but even a more incredible person the times that i've been able to meet him i've seen him show nothing but kindness to everybody he's come across anybody who's ever asked for a picture he said yes never seen him say no he loves god he's in the community this is a sad situation but glad to know that he's alive and doing better and real

00:15:59 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 6:

quick influencer and podcaster alex earl confirming she is hitting the dance floor for the next season

00:16:06 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 2:

of dancing with the stars when this opportunity came to me it was like what can i do next like where can i take this and i mean i'm ready to challenge myself i think it's going to be a lot of fun so it was like a very obvious answer to say yes we don't have a start date for the next

00:16:20 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 6:

season yet it is going to air sometime this fall in abc and disney plus hulu will be streaming the episodes the following day. I think I'm going to make Aunt Pat, I'm not joking about this, my official Dancing with the Stars Dirty on the 30

00:16:30 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 4:

Correspondent. She loves it. The only time that she's ever not loved it was when they went over to Hulu exclusively, and she had to get that as a streaming service. They're back on ABC.

00:16:39 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 5:

I feel like Alex Earl is today's popular. That's a good get. I feel like Dancing with the Stars used to be like the people

00:16:46 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 4:

who kind of fell off. Well, that's it. It's always like the, you know, I don't know, the old school sitcom stars.

00:16:52 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if it's changing, if it'll be more

00:16:53 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 6:

00:17:37 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. What's making your blood pressure go?

00:17:39 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 5:

I don't know how you guys have these people come on here, and they're so calm. Maybe I should start doing those TV stuff. Oh, you're nervous. Because I am.

00:18:11 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. How are you guys? Thanks for having me.

00:18:13 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, nice to have you. We should actually see if we're smarter than an eighth grader with some of the social studies, the U.S. history that you probably are teaching there.

00:18:22 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we'd probably all have to do a good job. That'd be fun.

00:18:27 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, here we go. Josh, I'm locking you in a soundproof area. We're going to begin this contest. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Mackenzie wins the last day of school for you guys.

Oh, man. You got a long time. Yeah, you guys start late too, right? After Labor Day.

00:18:47 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So we're just trying to get to the finish line.

00:18:50 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 4:

00:22:58 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 1:

We got a pair of tickets to give away to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA. We'll do that in 30 minutes from now. And then in just over an hour and a half from now at 830, we're giving away tickets to see the weekend this weekend at Ford Field. So your chance to win coming up here on the Mojo in the Morning show. It is Mojo in the Morning. Yesterday, I had the very kind-hearted Kevin take me home. He drove me home. He did Eddie Money. He took me home tonight. I don't get the reference. Take me home tonight. I don't want to let you go. You don't remember that song. You don't know that song. I'm from a different place at a different time. Just like Shannon sang, be my little baby. Remember that song? You don't remember that song? That's a throwback. When did y'all do that? You got to start, maybe I should have taken over the aux cord and played some of my music for you. Keep going though, because you started off kind, Kevin, but I know there's going to be a turn somewhere at some point. No, there's not going to be anything that's not going to be unkind in this one here. So Kevin told me this week, he said, hey, I'm going to take you home from work on Thursday. And he says, we'll have lunch and I'll take you to the house. And you know, it was really nice. We go to his car, which is, you know, parked out on the street here, which, by the way, is an amazing car. He should leave it unlocked because if anybody was going to steal anything in that car, it would actually be a benefit to Kevin because it would be them cleaning something out of that thing. Shannon, this car looked like, and I'm going to give another reference that you're not going to know. This car looked like Fred G. Sanford's. I don't know who that is. a pickup truck from Sanford and Son. Red Fox. Red Fox. You knew that one. I know. Like filthy or just lots of stuff? It had more crap in it. I took a picture. Oh, send the pic. You know you took a picture. Send the pic. Bianca, do me a favor. I'm going to send this picture to you. Post this. on the story and say, do we think Kevin's car needs to be cleaned out? Holy hell, Kev.

00:25:06 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 2:

This is why you can't do nice things for people. Kev,

00:25:10 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 3:

is that? And you zoom it in. You don't need to pinch and zoom. You got stuffed animals, clothes, wrappers, so much popcorn on the floor.

00:25:19 - 00:25:24 | Speaker 2:

That's Josiah. Where does Josiah sit? A laundry basket. He's sitting in that back right seat. Go ahead.

00:25:24 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 3:

Dude, that's, what else? I mean, this is, you can't even You can't see the floor.

00:25:30 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 2:

We are not focused on the facts. And I took this man home.

00:25:35 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

On the facts.

00:25:36 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Drove 50 minutes out my way and 50 minutes back. Accusations. These are not accusations. This is false. I'm not going to lie. I'll be the first one to tell you that my car is filthy. This car is filthy. One day I will clean it. The craziest part is when I moved in December, a lot of that stuff, like you mentioned that laundry basket, A lot of stuff that's back there is stuff from me moving that I just either haven't thrown away or haven't taken out. The stuffed animal, I will say, I'm two for two with the claw machine. And that stuffed animal came from Zapzone last week with Josiah. That's back there. The popcorn.

00:26:12 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 1:

That stuff, by the way, that you get from Zapzone and that thing is supposed to go in a garbage or donate it to somebody. That thing should not be going home. That's cancer right there.

00:26:20 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 2:

According to you, the backseat is the garbage.

00:26:22 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that thing's asbestos.

00:26:23 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 2:

It is.

00:26:23 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I think I got asbestos when I was driving in that car.

00:26:26 - 00:26:28 | Speaker 2:

You had a comfortable ride.

00:26:28 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 1:

That car, first off, let me explain this to you. I'm in the front seat, okay? Normally, what I've been doing since I've injured my shoulder and I've had to wear this brace, I've been sitting in the backseat of a car because I can't put a seatbelt on. I couldn't sit in the backseat of his car. There's no room.

00:26:44 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 2:

There's no room. First off, as soon as you open the back door, I said, this ain't no Uber. Get in the front. I'm not your Uber driver. I was, come on.

00:26:51 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 3:

No, what, you going to sit in the backseat? No, no, no, that's not what this is. The man can't sit up next to the center console. This man.

00:26:58 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 1:

I had to. So he had to put my seatbelt on. Thank you.

00:27:02 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Very helpful. Why is this another video? I should have took a video of that.

00:27:06 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe that that car even moves with the amount of crap that is in that car.

00:27:12 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 2:

It is a beautiful ride.

00:27:13 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 1:

Please tell me you do not take girls on dates in that car.

00:27:15 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they've been in there.

00:27:16 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:27:17 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 2:

They're not tripping, bro.

00:27:18 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 1:

If you got a car like that, you got to have a dirty set of balls.

00:27:21 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 3:

Honest to God. I'd be on second date update if I got in somebody's car and it looked like that. I will not call you back.

00:27:28 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm telling you. That's bad. They there for me. They're not there for the car.

00:27:31 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 1:

That car is so disgusting. I look at that thing and I'm like, what in the world is going on?

00:27:36 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, y'all got the Jack's Platinum car? Help your boy out. I don't. I only have the basic package, which is the outside of the car.

00:27:43 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 1:

I just need a little vacuum.

00:27:44 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 3:

They got free vacuums there.

00:27:45 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. For free. All right, here we go. We just posted up on Instagram and Facebook. does it need to be clean yes and not it looks fine if you let's see what the votes are oh 100 no there's no way you're the first voter that is the most disgusting card jennifer if you get a chance you got to go look at this up on our story what's going on jen i looked at it i'm going to

00:28:12 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 4:

stick up for kevin because when my husband mocks me for my car i always say if we are both stranded somewhere i am going to live a lot longer because i have extra clothes i have a pillow i have probably some of my kids leftover food and he's going to die within 15 hours because he's got nothing but a spotless clean car so heaven you do you and you're going to survive and we'll see

00:28:33 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 1:

each other somewhere thank you is this one of those survival things is this what do they call it when people can their own food and and they think that they're going to die they're preparing for the end of the world?

00:28:43 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 3:

They're a prepper.

00:28:43 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 1:

Maybe. Kevin and Jennifer are preppers.

00:28:46 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I will say it has come in handy often. Like when you're out at your kids' events and it's really cold because it's May and you're like, oh, wait, I still have gloves left over in the...

00:28:59 - 00:29:00 | Unknown:

I have a hat.

00:29:00 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 4:

I have a blanket and pillow. So that's all I'm saying. And I even have flip-flops left over from last summer.

00:29:07 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 1:

You got the entire four seasons right there in that car. Jennifer, what's going on? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:29:14 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 5:

Hey, this is Erica.

00:29:15 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry. Erica, I apologize. That's okay. Good morning. What's going on?

00:29:20 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Good morning. What's the Charlie Brown name with the dust ball going around? That's it. Exactly. What is that character? How dare you? How dare you offer to take somebody home with your car in that condition? Shame on you.

00:29:34 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not shame on me. First off, Chelsea has been coming to get this man driving out of her way, even though that's her husband, for better or for worse. I thought I was doing the kind thing. If somebody offers you help, it doesn't matter how the package comes. Just open it up.

00:29:49 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't care. Shame on you. That's trifling. Ugh, man.

00:29:52 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 1:

It was so dirty. No. So dirty.

00:29:54 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 2:

Go look at the picture. It's not as bad as you make it seem. She's looked at it.

00:29:56 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 1:

I guarantee you, Eric, has looked at it.

00:29:58 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 5:

I looked at it. You need to clean your car.

00:30:00 - 00:30:02 | Speaker 4:

Popcorn on the floor. You can't see the floor. You got to clean your car.

00:30:02 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 6:

I bet you he's got dingleberries in his butthole. I'm telling you.

00:30:07 - 00:30:09 | Speaker 7:

No, my butthole is solid, bro.

00:30:09 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 6:

He's got, seriously.

00:30:11 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 7:

Listen, first of all, it's a shoebox, my work bag, my trench coat on the floor, that little hamper thing. Wait, that's a nice trench coat. Get that off the floor. And then it's Josiah's side. Y'all got kids. Anything goes back there sometimes.

00:30:23 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 6:

Emily, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:30:26 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

00:30:27 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 8:

How are you guys?

00:30:28 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 6:

We're great. What's going on?

00:30:30 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 8:

I just wanted to say, this is why Kev needs to dump his trash at Josiah's mom's house. He's got to clean out that car. Bingo! It's disgusting. I forgot about that. You have a very good memory. That's a great memory.

00:30:41 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely correct. Thanks for bringing that up, Emily. We appreciate you.

00:30:44 - 00:30:45 | Speaker 8:

Have a good day, guys. You too.

00:30:45 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 6:

Take care of yourself. Hold on. Don wants to say something to Kevin. What's that, Don? Hey, Kev, is your car a soup kitchen? It does. It does. You got me, Don. Don, can you believe that thing, Don? Can you believe I got in that car yesterday?

00:31:02 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, yeah, I do believe you got in it. You got a free ride. That is true.

00:31:07 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 6:

How does it smell? By the way, it actually didn't smell bad. It wasn't bad. But I will tell you, I've gotten into Ubers before that are equally as bad as Kevin's. And I'm like, these people that are driving professionally and this is how they drive.

00:31:20 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 7:

You offer help.

00:31:21 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I would rather get into a messy, cluttered car than a car that stinks. The smells really get me. I feel you. So if it smelled fine, all right.

00:31:29 - 00:31:34 | Speaker 6:

Roger. What's going on, Roger? How much? How are you doing?

00:31:34 - 00:31:34 | Speaker 5:

Good.

00:31:34 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 6:

What's happening?

00:31:36 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 5:

Not much, man. I work in construction, and I will clean my car one day, and then in two days, it is dirty. I mean, I got stuff on me unless I bring clothes to work. Kevin must be a contractor on the side.

00:31:48 - 00:32:03 | Speaker 6:

A little bit. Kevin's doing everything on the side, if that's the case. Look at this thing. It's got full sets of clothes. He's got more clothes there than Chelsea has in our walk-in closet. Shoes, clothes. It was unreal. Hi, Rachel. It's Mojo in the morning.

00:32:04 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:32:05 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

00:32:07 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, give him some grace. My car, I can just clean it, and my car gets a mask. I have a three, almost four-year-old. I'm always working, and I'm a single mom.

00:32:18 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 6:

You know what's funny? This is the thing.

00:32:21 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 4:

Less than two days later.

00:32:22 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 6:

Now people can say I relate to Kevin because all the dirty car people are sticking up for Kevin right now.

00:32:28 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 4:

No, so don't get me wrong. It drives me nuts. It does. It drives me nuts. Yeah. I got a new car, and I gave my friends' twin boys a ride home, who are young teenagers.

00:32:39 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 6:

By the way, I can hardly hear you underneath all the garbage in your car right now. There's something wrong with your Bluetooth. Brian, what's going on, Brian?

00:32:49 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, I think you need a new contest. Just put Zach back in the rat soup from the Coney place and send him out to Kevin's car. Oh, my God.

00:32:56 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 3:

You try to help a guy. You try to help a guy.

00:33:01 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 6:

Never again. Never again. Never again. Never again. Oh, my God.

00:33:07 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, see? Now that Mike is off the show, Kev thinks he can do whatever he wants. I see you, Kev.

00:33:15 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 6:

That would have been a while.

00:33:16 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 7:

That was a good one.

00:33:17 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 6:

Mike's actually on with us today. We're going to play throwback throwdown. Shannon's going for her second win in a row in the throwback throwdown.

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 7:

Stop saying that. I'm feeling good.

00:33:24 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 6:

She has not done it.

00:33:26 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 7:

This year.

00:33:27 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 6:

It's been a year. Or less than a year. It's been months.

00:33:30 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 7:

I don't like that he keeps bringing it up.

00:33:32 - 00:33:33 | Speaker 6:

Because I'm going to see what happens.

00:33:33 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 7:

He keeps bringing it up. It feels like he's going to sway the song. He's going to will it into existence.

00:33:37 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to play nothing but Owl City. Or whatever y'all want to hear.

00:33:41 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 7:

If it's Fireflies, I got that one.

00:33:44 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 6:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning. So Lydia is telling me about how this weekend she's going to a friend's place in Chicago. And this friend is somebody that she's going to be a bridesmaid for. a ride's made for and she's having all of the people that are standing up for her come spend the weekend with her and have a little slumber party weekend and I said to her I go oh that's cool I said what wedding's coming up here anytime now and she goes yeah October October of next year and I'm like wait is this the same girl that got engaged like a year ago when did she get

00:34:18 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 1:

engaged Lydia she got engaged in September so she's been engaged for quite some time now and we've been talking about wedding planning and when she asked me to be her bridesmaid two months ago i asked her when the wedding would be and she's like oh that's gonna be in october and i'm like oh great like it's gonna come up pretty fast she's like no it's october of 2026 oh my god yeah so she's already planning like the bachelorette we're already planning like girls trips and things that we're gonna do together as like a bridal party but i feel like we're gonna be spending like a year and a half planning this wedding of hers it's like the longest engagement ever all right

00:34:51 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 6:

I got to ask, is this the longest, is a two-year engagement the longest engagement ever? Like, can you be engaged for that long of a time?

00:35:00 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 7:

Are you, like, I don't know, worried that things are going to change? You know what I mean?

00:35:06 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, I would hope not if you're thinking about marrying somebody.

00:35:08 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 7:

But at what point do you say, is this really going to happen?

00:35:12 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 1:

I mean, so I do all of the bridal shows. Like, for the radio station, on behalf of the radio station, I go to a lot of the bridal shows. And I cannot tell you guys how many brides I meet. And that's always a question I ask is, like, when is your wedding? Where are you getting married? And there are so many that plan years ahead, which I mean, sometimes it has to do with they want one specific venue and it's not available until then. Other times it's a financial thing. They got to save up money to make it happen.

00:35:42 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 7:

But Shannon, you can't then pick two years.

00:35:45 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, is not that crazy to me.

00:35:47 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 7:

You can't pick the bridal party. You may not be friends with them or they may not be alive.

00:35:52 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 1:

But let me tell you something. And I was a part of a wedding a year or two ago, and it was not a long engagement. And she switched out two bridesmaids during that process before the wedding.

00:36:03 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

00:36:04 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 1:

So even the engagements that aren't that long, that kind of stuff happens, too.

00:36:08 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 7:

All right. I want to know who's had the longest engagement ever. Like, you got to tell us, is there somebody that has done it longer than this? Because this is like a two-year engagement. Seems like a long time. Jennifer, hi.

00:36:20 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:36:22 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 7:

Hi. you were actually just a little less than two years is that right i was engaged for 22 months

00:36:28 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 4:

my husband wanted to graduate college before we got married um and so we got married the day after

00:36:35 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 7:

he graduated oh man that is a long time though you know to be sitting there waiting because after he finishes college and then you now got to pick up all of his you know his college bills

00:36:47 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 1:

can i ask you a question when in that process did you get your dress at the beginning or like how

00:36:52 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 4:

far into the engagement um it was farther into the engagement okay because i was gonna say that's

00:36:57 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 1:

my worry is your taste changes so much yeah so if you get your dress right after you get engaged fast forward two years yeah i probably wouldn't you don't even have the same style or what have

00:37:06 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 7:

you got bigger yeah right or that too right i mean there's some some issues when it comes to that i'm telling you i think the biggest issue is friends like at some point are you going to be friends with the same people in a couple of years i know that you want your bestest buddies of all time there with you porsha what's going on hi how long was the engagement my mom was engaged for

00:37:30 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 2:

seven years oh my god seven years yes seven years and i think it's because they didn't really want to get married because they didn't um but she did end up getting married however i just got engaged saturday i ran the d kevin just missed it i think kevin just missed it because he was at the races on saturday yeah and it happened right after it was a finish line proposal wow congratulations we thank you and we're planning for april of next year we know we

00:38:01 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 7:

want to get married okay so you're gonna you get better yeah nowadays you better rush to get to the altar because you never know what's going to happen right yeah we're going to do it in april next year. Good job, Portia. Congratulations to you. Rosie, how long were you engaged?

00:38:17 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

12 years. That's like Grand Theft Auto 6.

00:38:23 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 7:

12 years. What were the circumstances?

00:38:28 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, we got together and it was always, well, when this happens, when this happens, when we get to here, when we get to here, and I guess 12 years later, we're still not at any

00:38:35 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 7:

of those places. Man, that's amazing. By the way, people have you beat. Maddie has you beat. How many years, Maddie?

00:38:41 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 5:

so this was my high school teacher and i think she was engaged for 15 years at that point

00:38:48 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 7:

10 years ago can't tell me she ain't getting cheated on bro that's the only way 15 or maybe they're just commitment phobia or something like that it was a shut up ring not a engagement ring

00:38:59 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 1:

you know that's that's a long time i've never i've never heard of that phrase before it's just a shut-up ring, but I bet that happens.

00:39:09 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 7:

Amanda, what's going on?

00:39:11 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I was engaged for two years, so not only 15 years, but I would not recommend being engaged that long in any way, shape, or form, because all of the problems you guys are talking about, I had. I had to switch out one of my groomsmen. I had to, there was a bunch of drama with the family. My dress did not fit me a month before I got married because I lost a bunch of weight. Oh, my gosh. Like, all of the problems that you are talking about, I had in my two-year engagement.

00:39:45 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you, there's a lot of issues that could come up on this whole thing. And by the way, I'm not trying to put any weird things into the atmosphere for Lydia when she goes to hang out with her friend this weekend. But at some point, eventually, if you keep getting these get-togethers of...

00:40:00 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 4:

you and all the other people standing up in the wedding, it's going to cost you a bajillion dollars just to go to this wedding because you've got so many different events that you're going to be going to.

00:40:09 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 1:

I'm giving her grace because they already have been together for a while, and they've been practically living together and doing everything together. So I think it's going to be fun. I'm just excited to celebrate her.

00:40:20 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's nice. Well, you've got two years to save. That's right. Exactly. Lydia, do you know, did she put dresses up yet or no?

00:40:27 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 1:

No, not yet. We haven't picked out any dresses, but she does have a color picked out. That's good.

00:40:32 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 4:

What if that color changes, though? Like, what if the idea changes?

00:40:35 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 1:

At least you're not buying a dress. Well, hopefully I'll know that before I buy this dress. Yeah.

00:40:39 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 4:

Do you like the ideas that brides have now where it's like, here's the color, just go find a dress?

00:40:44 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 1:

Yes. No. No? Or you don't? You want a specific? No, I like when they pick it out for me.

00:40:49 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 4:

Because it's easy just to grab it then, huh, and just give it your size?

00:40:51 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 1:

Right.

00:40:52 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. I always thought that that was kind of cool when they did that. I thought women would like that. Then they can go, although the problem though with that is some girls might get a better dress than the other girls or the colors may not be exact, you know, like that's not the same color. All right. Mojo in the morning.

00:41:10 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 5:

Shannon's dirty coming up in less than 30. All right.

00:41:15 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 4:

It is Mojo in the morning. Have you guys ever had anybody friend poach you? Have you ever experienced that at all? So last night, Chelsea and I went out, and when we went out, we walked into this place that's right by our house, went to eat at the bar, sit up at the bar, and she was having a burger, and I was going to order something else off the menu because I was not into the idea of burger, and we look over in the corner, and there is a table, and the table is two of our very good friends and another two of our very good friends, and we introduced introduced the two to the to each other like we actually introduced them but they didn't invite us to go out for dinner that night it was actually the four of them and not the six of us so we walked in on a little friend poaching and i want to know if there's any listeners that have ever had this happen to them before and can you friend poach or do you have to ask for permission or is that you know weird to say that you know i'm talking about i know exactly what you're

00:42:19 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 5:

talking about yeah i don't think oh yeah i don't think you need to ask for permission because when you introduce friends into your friend group don't you kind of want that to happen you want everybody to get along so your friend group can get a little bit bigger but can you you're just you you are just upset that's right that you did not get we weren't invited yeah i listen i i'm not

00:42:42 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 4:

gonna lie to you i don't think these four people would ever be together if it weren't for chelsea and I. We were the United Nations of friends. We brought them together. Doesn't that make you proud?

00:42:53 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 5:

Doesn't that make you proud? No.

00:42:55 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 4:

But I don't think that, and I think this was their first time together since we introduced everybody, and I think it was their first time going to dinner. Don't you think at very least we should have had, like, even hey, just want to let you know, we're going to go out, you guys are free. Like, why go out just the four of them?

00:43:11 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 3:

I can see it maybe for the first time. Maybe for the first, like, hey, remember you introduced me to Shannon and Wes? Yeah, we're about to link up y'all hang out too i can see it for the first time i don't think they owe you anything

00:43:22 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 5:

though honestly okay so i agree with that and i i said what i said if you don't need to ask for permission however i think your feelings are very valid because i would feel the same way

00:43:31 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 4:

i know i would why wasn't i good enough yeah chelsea good enough both of us to be able to

00:43:36 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 3:

go with them you whining what you whining why am i whining you served your purpose you connected them let them go frolic it's not middle school bro you see your little friends on the swings

00:43:47 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 4:

and you mad you ain't getting pushed listen this reminded me so much of being in grade school and all the times that i got screwed you know what's up blake how you doing i'm good good good first

00:43:59 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 2:

time caller long time oh i did have a comment on the friend poaching actually me and my i've known this kid since fourth grade and we got introduced by a really good friend of mine and we are more friends than the kid that introduced us in the beginning i've known this guy like i said known this kid since fourth grade and we've not quit being friends since so kind of an extreme version

00:44:23 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 4:

of friend coaching yeah i'm telling you though this was an adult version of that that this is exactly what it was i guess that is a little bit do you remember when you were a kid and you found out that friends of yours had a sleepover and you weren't invited oh and you were in your crush

00:44:40 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 2:

yeah absolutely i guess i guess i can see your your your why you bring the topic up because that

00:44:46 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

is that is kind of a bummer that's what it reminded me of it reminded me of when the you know and i'll never forget it but i'll remember john martin invited brad and brian yeager and Steve Gorski over, but didn't invite me.

00:45:00 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 6:

I introduced John Martin to Brad and Brian Yeager and Steve Gorski. To me, what it did was it brought back those feelings that I had at St. Michael's. You know?

00:45:09 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 5:

I was upset. So when you saw them there eating, you just walked away?

00:45:14 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 6:

So I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, look over in the corner. And she looks over and she goes, oh. Like she was excited to see him. And I go, no. No O. No O on this. And she goes, what do you mean no O? And I said, they didn't invite us. And she goes, oh, yeah, that's right. And I said, we invited or introduced all of them together. They wouldn't know each other if it wasn't for us. They have to ask our permission if it's okay to go out.

00:45:42 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 4:

They do that. Yes. There's no contract that they signed that because you introduced them, they know there's not. But if I know you, you went up to them with a spit-eating grin and were like, hi, guys. Right.

00:45:57 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:45:58 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 4:

Where was our invite?

00:45:59 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 6:

No, Chelsea goes over and gives him hugs. I stayed at the bar and was talking to the bartender and was kind of acting like I didn't see him and then just sat there for a little bit. And then at the end of the night, as we're getting ready to leave, because I'm like, let's get out of here. I just can't take it any longer. And as we're getting out of here, I go, hey, hi guys, how are you? And honestly, it bothers me in certain respects because I actually felt like when we met everybody on the first time, I felt like they weren't all kind of getting along until I was like, hey, you know, you guys have kind of an interesting little thing. You guys both do this and blah, blah, blah. And I don't want to give out too much information because they're already going to know that I'm talking about them. But it was one of those situations where I was like, I knew that they weren't feeling each other. And then when I said that they had the commonality with each other, they were all like, oh, no, now I like you. You did a good thing.

00:46:48 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 5:

You probably didn't even enjoy your food. You were thinking about them the whole time.

00:46:52 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 6:

Believe me, I enjoyed my food. There's not food. There's nothing in the world. Our poor dog died And I still ate my meal that night Everybody else was not eating their meal I'm like why aren't you guys eating Angie what's going on It's Mojo in the morning Hi

00:47:08 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing okay Angie

00:47:11 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 6:

I'm a little salty I got friend poached

00:47:13 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

You sound really jealous right now You sound like a 12 year old kid Who didn't get to go hang out with his friends Because they went to play basketball Without him God you lived with me

00:47:26 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 6:

in my neighborhood in Orland Park, Illinois, didn't you? You know exactly what I'm talking about.

00:47:33 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 2:

So, yeah, don't be jealous. Be happy that they got to hang out. And if they didn't say hi, guess what? It's their loss. And just be happy that you got to get them together and they get to hang out.

00:47:46 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not that nice. Brittany, what's going on? Hi.

00:47:52 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, it sounds like you're triggered. I think this is bringing up some past traumas.

00:47:56 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 6:

It is. I swear to you, I got to call Dennis, my therapist, today about this one. I think I need a session. I'm telling you, it brings back so many of them. You know how many times I was the guy that introduced everybody to everybody? And I'm going to say one time, I actually got screwed on a date to a dance because of that. I introduced a girl to a buddy, and it was like, hey, we all can hang out with each other. Next thing I know, he's asking her to the dance instead of me being able to ask her.

00:48:23 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 5:

See, that's what it is.

00:48:24 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 6:

Brittany, it's tough. i'm sorry i get it i know see i should have by the way sent over something to them i should

00:48:33 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 5:

00:51:43 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 4:

I want to start off with a shout-out to some ladies that I met yesterday who work at the meat counter at Honey Bee Market in Mexicantown in southwest Detroit. They're huge listeners of the show. They always have us go in there. And they were, that was my first time at that place. Oh, my God. If you've never been, it is a treat. It is a true Mexican market with all just sorts of fresh foods and prepared foods. And it's literally like a Mexican grocery store. You guys, I came home with a bag of chips that was like half as big as me. Really?

00:52:17 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Went to the meat market and got chips.

00:52:19 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

No, they have fresh salsas. They have fruits. I mean, they have all the things.

00:52:23 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 3:

What were you doing in Mexicantown?

00:52:25 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 4:

It was a field trip for Lucy's Spanish class.

00:52:29 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's cool.

00:52:30 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 4:

So I joined halfway through after the show yesterday. Shout out to the ladies. Honey Bee Market.

00:52:34 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I love, what is it? There's like the bakery or whatever, like the pastry place or whatever. La Gloria Bakery. Oh my God.

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 4:

We went there.

00:52:41 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 3:

Those places, pre-gluten, I would have, I looked like I was doing cocaine. and I had powdered sugar all over me. It's crazy.

00:52:51 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 4:

All right, Scott Miscuddy, better known as rapper Kid Cuddy, comparing Diddy to a Marvel supervillain while on the stand sharing his testimony yesterday. He testified that his home was broken into back in December of 2011 after getting a phone call from Cassie Ventura, who he was dating at the time, who frantically told him that Diddy had found out about their relationship. Cuddy said he went to pick up Cass from a hotel she was staying at, And as he was driving home, he spoke to Diddy on the phone and he was told, I'm waiting for you. When he got home, Diddy wasn't there, but people had clearly been at his home. His security cameras had been moved. Christmas presents that were on his kitchen counter had been unwrapped. His dog was locked up in a bathroom. The following month, and we've heard this story, his car was firebombed with a Molotov cocktail, his Porsche. Cuddy said he knew that Diddy had something to do with it, arranged a little meeting between the two of them at the very exclusive Soho House Hotel. He said that Diddy's security brought him into like a conference room where Diddy was standing there looking out the window with his hands behind his back like a Marvel supervillain. That's how he painted the picture. And Cuddy said Diddy was very calm during that meeting, but they shook hands at the end of it. And that's when Cuddy asked him, what are we going to do about my car? And Diddy's response was just a stare. And he said, I don't know what you're talking about. And Cuddy said he walked away going, I know he's lying. The gentlemen didn't see each other until about four years later. And Diddy pulled him aside during that occasion and said, I just want to apologize for everything and all of that bull spit. So Cuddy's like, I knew that's what he was talking about. But during cross-examination, he did testify that he was very aware of the abuse that Cassie Ventura suffered at the hands of Sean Combs. Yesterday evening, he was thanking fans for their support on social media.

00:54:49 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. So I just want to say, man, I've been seeing all the love and support. And I just want to say thank you so much, man.

00:55:00 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 3:

been hitting me up the past week, just checking in and even today and I just, it really means a lot to me, man. You guys are the best. I love y'all. It's weird how you walked into court the two days

00:55:16 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 4:

he was testifying.

00:55:18 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:55:20 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 4:

I love y'all, man. He had like a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

00:55:24 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 3:

Very cutty.

00:55:26 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 4:

That's how he dressed. But it seemed interesting like how he's like nonchalant cigarette out of mouth, definitely trying to play off the image like he's not bothered by what's going on. This man blew up his car.

00:55:35 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 5:

He did not blow up his car. That was a severe exaggeration. Did he? I mean, a Molotov cocktail is a bomb. I know you probably saw the picture, Shannon. Did you see the pictures?

00:55:43 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the pictures? No, I did not see the pictures. Look at this. Does that look like a car that's blown up? It's got a big old, yeah, it's got a big burn mark and stuff in it. A big burn mark.

00:55:53 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 5:

I mean, the roof of the car had a hole in it. That's how they cut it open and dropped the Molotov cocktail inside. I'm telling you, though. You did not blow up that man. That's not normal. I'm not saying it's right. I'm not saying it's right. I just want to, like, let's taper expectations. Let's be more realistic.

00:56:06 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 4:

These rappers in this rap world, like Shannon last hour was talking about Skillababy and then Cuddy and Diddy and all this stuff. I'm sorry, but I don't know if I want to ever get into rap business. You're already in it, baby. It's a dirty business. I don't want to. You're already in it. I ain't in it.

00:56:21 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 2:

I mean, let's actually, we've told this story about Trick Trick before. You had a hit out on you, okay?

00:56:28 - 00:56:37 | Speaker 4:

But you know what? Now we're nice. Now we're all good. He was in the studio a couple weeks ago, which is just why you listen to me. I'm a grown man that just wants to live his life in peace.

00:56:37 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 5:

Trick Trick was in the studio a couple weeks ago. And where was Mojo?

00:56:40 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 4:

I was in hiding in Florida again. Same place I was at when he didn't like me. Now we like each other.

00:56:48 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 2:

True story. A major development in the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. mysteriously Justin Baldoni has withdrawn that subpoena for Taylor Swift. Taylor initially subpoenaed because of her close friendship with Blake with allegations suggesting she was involved in a little script rewrite meeting and that Blake had used their friendship for leverage to get what she wanted when it came to producing the movie and things that were happening with It Ends With Us. However, Taylor's reps clarified she had zero involvement in the film's production. and was actually on tour during filming. Again, that trial is expected to kick off in March of next year, if we get that far. Tory Lanez being moved to a new prison after he was stabbed 14 times at the California Correctional Institution. His dad said that transfer is just standard protocol for safety following that incident. It's not special treatment.

00:57:45 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 4:

That was for Lydia if she watching. Why is Lydia so hell-bent on Tory Lanez not having done this?

00:57:50 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 5:

She's not hell-bent. She's just seeking the truth.

00:57:52 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 1:

I mean, because Megan Thee Stallion has been lying. A lot of people think that.

00:57:57 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 4:

You don't believe that they got the right person.

00:58:00 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't. And the fact that there was female DNA on the gun, but they never tested Kelsey for it just tells me all I need to know. Kelsey is Megan Thee Stallion's former friend.

00:58:09 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So she, she's. Who was there in the car that night. She fingered Tori Lanes and not the friend.

00:58:15 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 1:

They were both sleeping with Tori Lanes at the same time. That's up.

00:58:19 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. Yeah.

00:58:20 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I found that stabbing. Tori's fine now, but two collapsed lungs.

00:58:26 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 5:

Can you still sing? Can you sing with collapsed lungs? I don't know. That doesn't affect your vocal cords.

00:58:31 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 4:

That'd be messed up. I don't know.

00:58:33 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, say goodbye to the penny.

00:58:36 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 4:

This is why I'm not on the rap game. I'm not going to go. Yes, what's going on with the penny?

00:58:39 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 2:

The penny's going away. The U.S. Mint is going to stop making new pennies within a year.

00:58:44 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 4:

I got them in a jar at home.

00:58:45 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 2:

Do you know that it costs more to make a penny than a penny's worth? It costs about three and a half cents to make a penny. The Treasury Department said it ordered its last blanks from which the pennies are made. They're not going to make any more once those blanks are gone. That's expected to be early next year. The U.S. Mint produced more than 3 billion pennies last year and lost more than $85 million in the process. So you're still going to be able to use pennies as long as you have them. But as the supply of pennies continues to shrink, stores are going to likely have to start adjusting their pricing.

00:59:17 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 5:

because that's crazy idea call me crazy yes all right maybe a dumb idea but there are no dumb ideas instead of just saying we're not gonna have pennies anymore because it costs too much to make them than they're worth why not just make the penny be like three cents you know what i'm saying why does it have to be one cent why we gotta eradicate it just make it like three cents

00:59:40 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

because wouldn't you just use a nickel at that point if you don't have a nickel why don't just round up why don't we just round up and not have to do it penny wise you know or round down what yes why instead of having it be like 21 cents just be 20 cents you know what do you mean like let's not even worry about pennies let's not even pay with pennies let's play even numbers

00:59:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

they're gonna have to do

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

So here's the thing, Kevin.

01:00:01 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 1:

So you just have all these pennies out here?

01:00:02 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

Crypto. They want us to have crypto.

01:00:03 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm not mad at crypto.

01:00:04 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 3:

So that they can be a little shady with the crypto.

01:00:06 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 1:

Kevin said that there's now an age that Josiah, his son, is at, that he thinks that Josiah should overrule the courts when it comes to where he wants to go, whether it be your house or his mom's house.

01:00:38 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we have a great parenting relationship at this point of our lives with Josiah. It hasn't always been good, and we've gone through the court system before, and we're at a point now and have been at a point for a few years now where we don't operate through the court system with the amount of times and when we get to see Josiah. In the summertime, we see Josiah. we have a week on, week off schedule. He spends a week at my house, then goes to his mom's for a week. During the school year, since I'm working in the morning show, I can't take him to school. So the schedule is a bit differently. And typically I'll pick Josiah up after school as much as I can, but I'll get him every weekend and then drop him back off like Sunday night so he can be prepared and ready to go to school Monday morning. Summer's coming up. So we'll do the one week on, one week off. But the only thing that we've maintained from the court's perspective them is their established holiday parenting time schedule where every other year you get a child on a specific holiday and it's always been like this interesting awkward conversation between his mother jasmine or at least awkward from my end where i feel like everything's going well and then okay memorial day is coming up who has josiah this year and how does it interrupt whatever schedule and consistency that we've established and luckily i have him this year so i'll get him friday and then bring him back memorial day at 6 p.m but josiah is now about to be a teenager in a year and you know he's he's very vocal he has his own personality he has his own mind he has his own wants and needs and i don't want i've never been in a position where i've introduced okay well what do you want to do josiah but we're getting to that point now where he has a voice in the situation to say regardless of what the holiday parenting schedule is i want to spend 4th of July with my mom you know I don't know how to introduce that conversation or what that's

01:02:26 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 3:

like what about it well I think you got to talk to not him I think you got to talk to her because I think you guys both got to agree that that's what you're going to do because otherwise it's not Josiah's you know the courts would say and I think in general the people would say it's you guys that need to work that thing out with each other are you are you thinking you're going to bring this up to him because you think you're going to win no I don't think I'm going

01:02:50 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 2:

I think it's an inevitable conversation. Like, as he starts to get older, go towards high school, I just feel like he's going to be with one parent more than the other. What if he doesn't choose you? I'm going to be sad, for sure.

01:03:03 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

I'll be sad. I'll be devastated. So I didn't know that Memorial Day is actually one of the days. So all the holidays are in this?

01:03:09 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 2:

Memorial Day, Easter, Labor Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, obviously Christmas, spring break.

01:03:14 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 3:

You don't lose them on Father's Day. Jasmine doesn't lose them on Mother's Day, right? It's always Mom on Mother's Day.

01:03:20 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

But everything else that alternates.

01:03:22 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Because I was going to say, that would be kind of silly if that was the case. What are your thoughts? Shannon, you're in a relationship.

01:03:28 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 1:

I would not proactively bring it up to him, to be honest with you. I would wait for him to say something about it. Just because he might not even be thinking that that's the case right now. And it's just very normal for him to still do the every other, like how it has been. There have been instances in my situation. Ours is a little bit different. We don't go by front of the court or anything. We kind of opted out of all of that and did our own schedule. But there have been instances, especially recently, where it was technically my weekend to have the kids. Easter is a great example. It was my turn to have them for Easter this year. But their dad was taking a vacation with his stepkids. And it would have been, it was a situation where I was supposed to have the kids for Easter. But also they could have went on this like a really awesome trip. so they said to me like oh they knew about this trip so they asked and it it is tough because then you know you you you lose them for the holiday you're supposed to have them and we're good about making it up elsewhere but um i've never i i have never and i will not until they bring it to me have a conversation of like you know you you you can decide for yourself so do you go next year

01:04:46 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, remember last year I was supposed to get him for Easter? Like, is that already in your mind?

01:04:50 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 1:

So, no, he doesn't know this yet, but I want them for Halloween this year.

01:04:54 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:04:54 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to be like, you had Easter. Technically, it's his year to have him for Halloween, I think. I'd have to go back and look. It's so freaking... confusing, but I love Halloween. So I'm going to be like, I want them for Halloween. Let me ask you

01:05:03 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 6:

this question, Shannon. How was it when you were a kid, when you got to an age where your parents were divorced, was there ever times where you would be like, I don't want to leave my mom's

01:05:14 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 1:

house or I don't want to leave my dad's house? So my, I was in kindergarten when my parents got divorced and we spent a lot more time with my mom than we did my dad. And it was just the way that their arrangement was and unfortunately and looking back now my dad got the crappy end of the of the stick because once we got into high school especially even middle school we had so many activities that were on gross deal my dad lived in elm park and our friends were on gross deal so there were so many things that like it was my dad's weekend but i had like a play practice my boyfriend was there all these things so just naturally i spent i saw my mom way more i spent way more time at my mom's house uh julie what's up it's mojo in the morning

01:06:00 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 3:

hi guys hi morning hey so i was calling because i because of moral day being the father's year this year i am going three weeks without seeing my daughter oh no the stuff going with this with uh when you go through the the courts this that's what happens so can you not ask him though can

01:06:24 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 1:

you not ask their dad hey i don't want to not see the kids for three weeks can we rearrange some days here or do you not have that kind of co-parenting relationship we've done it in the

01:06:34 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 3:

past but it's got to be something very important okay do you and does he is he in town are both you guys in town i live in belleville he lives in gibraltar okay because i was going to say it

01:06:47 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 6:

sounded to me like maybe one's out of town i don't get the i feel bad for these kids who's you know one parent is not even in state and they got to spend a whole summer in a totally different state which would suck you know takes you away from all your friends and stuff but yeah that three weeks is a tough time i i will say this to you and this is you know tough i but but this is one of the reasons chelsea and i talk about this all the time like when we were going through some struggles when luke was younger it's like this was like the only thing that kept me hanging on was the idea that i wasn't going to be there with him it's not ideal bro i'll tell you

01:07:19 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 1:

You know something? So when Wes and I got married last year and we blended families and we moved, he moved himself and Samantha and Kieran from Macomb to where I live. And I live, you know, not close to Macomb. It was, Wes was terrified because he's like, they're at the age where they could technically say, we would just rather hang out at mom's house because it's two minutes away from our school. I mean, it's definitely, you know, a drive from where we live now. and they were old enough to make the decision and they still are choosing to split split their time 50 50 thankfully now there are nights where it makes you know they don't get done with something at school till 8 30 and they're supposed to come to our house but instead they stay at their mom's because they're waking up at 6 30 the next morning to go to school that's a lot but yeah it's tough

01:08:06 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 4:

hey day what's up hey yeah i think it's awesome that that that's something that you're thinking about um when i was a kid i never really kind of thought about that but as i did get older because my parents live in two different states um i would just spend like the summers with like the whole summer with my dad and then go back with my mom and then my dad would fly out for like

01:08:24 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 6:

special occasions so was it ever hard for you to be away from all those friends that you had in

01:08:30 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 4:

school um no i was a really social kid so i could literally go anywhere and just make people make friends you know and just kind of make make friends so where was dad and where was mom um so my mom she was active duty in the military so we moved around a lot and my dad he still lives

01:08:48 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 5:

in detroit michigan so okay so so that i don't know how to ask this question so bear with me if it doesn't make sense but like what emotion was more powerful the excitement of going to spend the summer with the parent or the pain of leaving that parent and knowing you're not going to see him until next summer.

01:09:07 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 6:

He hung up the phone, but he got so emotional.

01:09:10 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 1:

I could not imagine that. I could not imagine that. And by the way, as a mom, I'd be like, well, I guess I'm going to spend the summer where they are.

01:09:19 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 6:

Here, Josie's on with us.

01:09:19 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 1:

Renting an Airbnb.

01:09:21 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 6:

Josie's dad lived, listen to this, Josie's dad lived in Chicago, mom lived in Grand Rapids, and you had to rotate summers. Ask Josie that question, Josie.

01:09:31 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Josie. Wow. Yeah. I forgot it. What emotion was stronger? Was it the excitement of going to see the parent for the summer?

01:09:40 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 6:

To seeing your dad in Chicago.

01:09:41 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the pain of, like, leaving and knowing you're not going to see him again for another year.

01:09:46 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

So I think it was a little bit of both. I actually was able to go, like, once a week or once a month to see him as well because my whole family lived out in Chicago. But my point was that I actually have way – I have, like, a lot of closer friends in the –

01:10:00 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 5:

chicagoland area now than i even do in the grand rapids area so spending those summers was really super awesome um i got to make a lot of fun so that's kind of the upside of it

01:10:09 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 1:

yeah wow it's you know what i i at least those are closer places right at least it's a couple three hours you know but uh because it'd be worse if it was a los angeles i was just thinking about

01:10:23 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 3:

this kev another reason to not bring this up to josiah now because he's 12 i feel like it puts so much stress on them yeah and i've noticed this especially with lucy where if if for something she has to choose between mom and dad even if it's something you know little like whose project is she gonna which house is she gonna bring like her art class project to she gets really stressed out because she doesn't want to disappoint one or the other yeah and i think they feel that they absorb that stress so much so if you're telling josiah he's got to pick or he can pick yeah i think all of a sudden it's not it's not set in stone it's not a schedule that he just has to follow it's on him and I get worried that he would feel like he would disappoint

01:11:03 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 2:

one or the other. I just want to get to a place where he doesn't feel forced by a schedule to spend time either way. Like hey you're a part of this family where do you want to be at at any given time? Just know that it's okay to say hey I want to spend a couple extra days with mom or I want to spend a couple extra

01:11:21 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 1:

days with dad. You don't ever parent differently because you want him to

01:11:25 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 2:

like you do? No but I think I love harder because I know I have an expiration date

01:11:29 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 1:

okay because i have friends of mine who are divorced and they're like they throw things at their kids to hope that their kids would choose them so i always sit there i look at that i go god their kids know that they're so smart that's not helping them no not at all marcia you say that your 17 year old son will actually not want to go to his dad's so what does he do

01:11:50 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 5:

so he's extremely active and boy scouts in band and it seems like lately his dad's came to a realization that he, like Kev said, he has an expiration date, kind of. He's almost 18, so he'll choose to go to Boy Scouts or his stuff with Bannon instead of going to his dad's, and he only goes to his dad's every other weekend.

01:12:12 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Does that make you sad to know that their relationship is like that?

01:12:17 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 5:

It does, but a lot of it was kind of by how their relationship has always kind of been.

01:12:23 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's too bad. That's too bad. Daisy is a friend of the court who has some advice for you guys. What's going on, Daisy?

01:12:32 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 4:

Hey, can you hear me?

01:12:33 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 1:

I got you, Daisy.

01:12:35 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 4:

Okay, good. This is my second time to ever be on the air with you guys. Welcome back. Welcome. The best thing, and I've been with the court system for like 28 years, seen it all, heard it all, amazed some days as to what goes down between families. the best thing i can tell you to do is you and mom keep that relationship open have your child feel like he can come to either one of you about anything as well as each parent needs to know what's going on in his life even though he may be with mom you need to know what he's doing every day you need to stay involved because that way you have an idea of what's going on every day and you guys can share that information the child will feel comfortable come to either one of you

01:13:21 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 1:

So no matter where Josiah is, make sure every day you know what he's got going on so that every day you're part of his life.

01:13:30 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 4:

That's right. I like that. That's for a good parent. A good parent will tell you that because then the child's going to know that you're there and not there, but the child will get that sense of love regardless.

01:13:43 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:13:44 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 4:

A lot of them need that, especially with society today.

01:13:47 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 1:

That's good advice. Sound advice.

01:13:49 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 4:

I love her accent so much.

01:13:51 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 1:

That would make me just be comforted if I was a kid and have Daisy as my friend of the court.

01:13:57 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Have her tell me that with a pitcher of lemonade.

01:14:00 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Sweet tea. Country time lemonade on the porch. Oh, gosh. Happy weekend. Happy holiday weekend. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon, you were talking earlier this morning about how you're going to be going to Saga Talk for the weekend. and this is actually something that you wanted to bring up on the air to ask other listeners about. What's that?

01:14:24 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm just wondering if there are other moms or wives. You don't have to be a mom necessarily. Girlfriends who you know, if it weren't for you, these trips would not be happening. Nobody would be packed. There would be no food. There would be no plans. There would be no reservations. Am I sensing a little saltiness here? There would be no weekend.

01:14:47 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Salty in seconds. What's going on? What is the reasoning for bringing this up?

01:14:50 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 3:

So all six of us, so myself, Wes, all four kids, and then my dad and my stepmom are all going, are all heading to the west side of the state. And it was supposed to be a super laid back weekend. I said this at the start of the show with like beach days and hanging out at the dunes or whatever. The weather is not cooperating. So I'm having to try and make sure that everybody is not going to be bored to tears here. I have made lists and packed indoor and outdoor games and activities. I did the Costco run yesterday. F'd up my car in the process. It's me versus the curb. Curb one, guys. Go look at my car. Curb one. Booked a donut boat trip, which is very much a Saugatuck thing. You know, if you if you go there. Wes is texting me as I was saying this. Made a few reservations, packed for myself, packed for Lucy Smith, figured out places for all three dogs to be. One of them is coming with us. I did it all. So I am just curious if there are other ladies in my position that you know it wouldn't happen if it weren't for you.

01:15:53 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 4:

This must be very common because I feel like in our family, this is Chelsea too. Like this is her having to do everything. is this is this just a uh a woman thing where you guys take the uh the bull by the horns

01:16:06 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 3:

uh i mean yeah but if you don't then what then what so then what lies ahead and you gotta pack

01:16:15 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 4:

you you don't have to pack the two older kids do you because they'll pack themselves but i will tell you that that is i think of how we ever went or have gone away when the kids were younger and And I don't know. I look all of a sudden, I'm like, why are we bringing so many bags? Not realizing how many bags it takes to actually go.

01:16:34 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:16:34 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean?

01:16:35 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 5:

I mean, this is a different way, but kind of in the same vein. I have a friend. He came in the studio and gave me that spirit of the trade awareness. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Every group has a planner. And you know, you dictate certain roles, right? Like, you got your hero. You got your energy person. You got your security person of the group. You got the fun person. You're just the planner. You're the lady of your family.

01:16:59 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 3:

Literally, Wes just texted me. He goes, but you're so good at it. That's your role. I'm like, no, do not pump me up here and make me feel good. That's where your greatness lies. Just one time, I want to sit back and just actually enjoy the trip. That would be the worst trip of your life.

01:17:15 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 5:

Because you would think you would enjoy it, but you would find every single hole. Rosie.

01:17:20 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 3:

You're probably right. But in my head, I'm like, oh, that sounds lovely.

01:17:23 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 4:

Rosie, is this you and your family? that's totally me yeah always nothing nothing would happen without you rosie you are the horse

01:17:34 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 1:

that pulls the wagon that's carol without the wagon and they say you don't have to do it but

01:17:40 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 4:

it won't get done unless i'm doing it always yeah no that's that's uh that's something very relatable that shannon's bringing up right now lots of people on the phone lines here danielle

01:17:49 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Danielle, what's up Danielle? Hi guys. So this is me and I've been with my husband for 20 years. We're high school sweethearts. And when we went on our honeymoon, I completely forgot to pack all of his shorts, and we were in the Caribbean, so he was so mad at me, and I said, it's your fault. You literally, all you had to do was tell me what you wanted.

01:18:25 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you pack him? Why are you packing him? He's a grown man. That's her fault. No, it's not.

01:18:31 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 5:

He's a grown man. If she's the one packing, but he should be packing himself, but that's not their relationship. Or double-checking. If she's the one responsible for the packing, and she knows they're going to the caribbean why the hell do i not have shorts because she's packing everybody else

01:18:47 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 4:

danielle don't take that at all actually start making your man more self-sufficient and everything

01:18:53 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 2:

will be okay yeah i told him i said it's your fault so don't play me yeah no that's what i'm curious what did he wear on the bottom um he we made it work but yeah he made it work hey leah

01:19:12 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 4:

what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hi how are you good what's going on oh first time long time we're gonna get a lot of women calling us up first time long time because they can relate

01:19:25 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 2:

to this topic oh i bet i know like i was saying and at least oh i know my case if i didn't plan the trips the trips would never be planned at all so and that involves the packing that involves all the like reservations where we're staying figuring out stuff to do for the kids figuring out stuff to do for our animals who's going to watch them so my husband he planned one trip once and it was when we got engaged so i know it's possible but it has not happened what is that

01:19:54 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

man's name so we can shout him out.

01:19:56 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 2:

Tyler. Hi, Tyler.

01:19:59 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Who's probably right now

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 5:

wondering what he should do with his life because Leah's the one that has to do everything for him.

01:20:05 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 6:

Right. Oh, well.

01:20:07 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 5:

Tyler, you wouldn't have clean underwear if it wasn't for this woman that's on the phone here right now.

01:20:12 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, honestly. Sometimes

01:20:13 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 5:

it's the truth. Thank you for the call. Hold on. Mariah says it's different in her family though. Is that right, Mariah?

01:20:20 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it is. I'm actually the one that just called in about falling asleep down in Daytona and it was pretty much that same trip. If it wasn't for my husband planning it we it would have been more of a disaster than it already was yeah I remember

01:20:33 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 5:

I remember that call but I also this is interesting so he's the guy that plans everything and does all

01:20:38 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 6:

the the trip stuff yep he does the only thing I figure out is like our dogs and our daughter's

01:20:45 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 5:

schedule while we're gone I've taken over a couple of the things it used to be Chelsea did everything and now I do the dogs so that's mine I contact our dog sitter and then I have done the the tickets the airline tickets and things like that but uh usually it was always chelsea that was packing there's somebody on the phone here this morning that says that shannon is full of crap and that person is her husband what's up wes good morning family good morning good morning man

01:21:15 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 4:

wow when i get to drive to work i get to hear lies from the show this is great tell me tell

01:21:22 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 2:

Tell me, what about I said was a lie?

01:21:25 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 4:

Listen, two years ago, the engagement of a lifetime was planned by who?

01:21:31 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

But listen to what you just said. Two years ago was the last time you planned something. You just stepped in it, Wes.

01:21:37 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 4:

There's a fly in the ointment. You changed me. You changed me.

01:21:41 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 5:

Wes, this is the problem. It was like the caller we just talked to. It's like the last time that the guys do anything is always the engagement or the honeymoon.

01:21:49 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's so funny is last night we were in bed and he looks at me. He's like, okay, I'm just, I'm going to pack all my stuff in the morning. And I'm like, okay, whatever, that's fine. And he's like, is there anything that you need? And I'm thinking, well, yeah, you know, I already went in like to the grocery store at Costco. So did I, did I not give you a list of like five things? I'm like, I'm just making him go to the grocery store. I don't need any of it. Wow.

01:22:10 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 4:

You didn't need any of it. And I ignored it and I went into the garage and I got baseball gloves. I got all the stuff that my boys need.

01:22:17 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 5:

Wes. the golf clubs yes i did it i packed isn't it nice though to have your own personal party planner

01:22:23 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 4:

you know our personal travel agent it's amazing i love it she does a wonderful job i tell you if i bought you know tortilla chips they'd be the wrong chips that is true by the way that's the thing

01:22:37 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 5:

sometimes you know you you guys uh complain a little too much maybe that's what he's saying

01:22:41 - 01:22:52 | Speaker 4:

all right with the old ones if i bought the wrong stuff like it's like oh no the pancakes they have have dino shapes on them i'm like i forgot 18 year olds and eight year olds need different

01:22:52 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 5:

things yes was that an adjustment for you too like when you guys you know combine families and stuff figuring out exactly how you do these family vacations with everybody yes each kid

01:23:03 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 2:

wants something different for sure it wants to do something different and the older ones eat very healthy and my kids eat crap yes so it's interesting i blame parenting yes

01:23:13 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 5:

we'll talk to you later west have a great time this weekend guys indeed all right

01:23:53 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, Detroit rapper Skillababy targeted in a drive-by shooting on 8 Mile yesterday. Fox 2 Detroit's Jessica Dupnack, we love her

01:24:04 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 1:

with the story. Tron Gartner, better known as Skillababy, a very well-known rapper here in Detroit and across the country. He shot earlier this evening, multiple sources saying that he had two braze wounds also shot in the head. It all unfolded an eight mile earlier this evening, ended with his SUV smashing into the side of a building. Now, Redford Township Police are investigating. They got this scene cleared up very, very quickly. And right now they're working to make some repairs to the building that is behind me.

01:24:33 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 5:

So what happened? So he was driving on eight mile and he got shot and then his car veered off. and hit the building.

01:24:40 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Looked like he got shot at a couple of times. Yeah. Wow. And, you know, fortunately, it seems like he'll be, you know, making a full recovery.

01:24:48 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 5:

Who are his beefs with?

01:24:50 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 3:

I wonder because he's so highly of him.

01:24:53 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, listen. And his character.

01:24:54 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 3:

Any time that I've ran into Skillababy or any time that I've seen him out in the community, He's always been a force of positivity. And if you go on his social media, he's taken his social media and his platform and use it as a way to talk more about faith and his religion and his love for God. But when you get to a certain level, you don't know all your enemies. You got people who have who that's why they say it's targeted. You don't know who's coming at you after you reach a certain level and a certain point. Some people are just jealous because of who you are and they want what you got.

01:25:24 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 1:

That's so terrifying because he's going to get out of the hospital and everywhere he goes, I'd be looking around, you know?

01:25:31 - 01:25:34 | Speaker 2:

How big is Skillababy? Because we don't play Skillababy on this station.

01:25:34 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 3:

We need to. He got a bunch of records, bro. Is he Big Sean?

01:25:39 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 2:

Is he not as big as Big Sean?

01:25:40 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 3:

I mean, Big Sean, more like a national artist.

01:25:43 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 1:

Does Jack Harlow shout him out in one of his songs? Yeah.

01:25:47 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

And I don't know what to say. Get love like Skillababy. That's how big he is.

01:25:52 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, Kanye West has publicly stated yesterday that he is done with anti-Semitism. And this comes after a FaceTime call with his kids prompted him to seek forgiveness for all these awful things he's said in the past. He expressed a desire to share peace now, linked a new single, or linked, put a link on X to his new single. It's called Alive. By the way, I heard a rumor, and Kev, maybe you know a little bit more about this because you're a Kanye fan, but I don't have confirmation of it. But I'm hearing that Kanye and Bianca checked into a rehab center in Spain. Do you hear anything about this? I don't know about that. Okay, so it's called The Balance. From what I know, it's an exclusive wellness retreat in Mallorca, Spain. It's known for its very luxurious accommodations, but they do offer treatment for mental health and addiction recovery. If that's true, for each of them to stay there for one week, $250,000 is the price tag.

01:26:50 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 3:

Hey, mental health is priceless. I'm glad if that's true that he's taking the necessary steps. But I also want to say, as somebody who has been in a position at a point in my life where I wasn't able to see my child, that can do some crazy things to you. And I can understand the correlation between him and this positive walk that he's on and the fact that he was finally able to see his children.

01:27:14 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'll believe it when I see it. I'm waiting for the next Kanye blow-up that happens, and then we'll go, oh, I guess he's changed his mind.

01:27:25 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 3:

That's unfortunate.

01:27:26 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 1:

Some really sad news in the dirty this morning. Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews sharing some heartbreaking news on her Calm Down podcast. She was expecting a second child via surrogate, and that surrogate just suffered a miscarriage. Yeah, they had been really hopeful after some early signs of a healthy pregnancy, But Erin said, you know, it's it's hard because she already experienced infertility. She's already had previous losses. So she just said, you know, be open about these struggles. If it's something that you're going through right now, she said, if you feel alone and you feel like a failure, just know I do, too.

01:28:00 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's sad. And that surrogate's got to be taking it tough, too. It's got to be horrible. Yeah.

01:28:04 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, I saw some photos of Kim Kardashian out and about the night before last. And she was wearing this sheer black top with like a black bra underneath. and it looked like she had her nipples pierced. And that was the headline everywhere. Well, no, turns out she was just promoting the newest Skims product. It's a bra with built-in piercings. There's enough painful things about being a woman. Get the ooh without the ouch.

01:28:31 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 3:

The Skims ultimate pierced nipple bra.

01:28:35 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 2:

By the way, the jury is right now in deliberations to decide whether or not there's going to be guilt in the Kim jewelry theft thing. Oh, really? Already? Yeah, we just got an alert from...

01:28:47 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'll get some details on that for our next hour. Quick question. Quick question for you, Anne. You got your nipples pierced? Never. Did you ever want to? I have one piercing in each of my ears, and I cried when I had to get one repierced. So the answer is no. What about me?

01:29:00 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 3:

Would I wear that nipple now? I don't want the image of your nipples in my mouth. Do you want that? Come on.

01:29:06 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 1:

Would you buy the Kim Kardashian bro? No, and I love Skims. I think every Skims product I've bought from pajamas to shapewear to underwear has been amazing.

01:29:15 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 2:

Do they make a double X version for a man? I'll wear it on Tuesday. You're going to have the nipple part? I'll have the nipple piercing ones.

01:29:23 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 1:

Y'all heard it here first. Bianca, get ready. For all of today's Dirty Cut tip, I check out the podcast search Mojo in the Morning in the iHeartRadio app.

01:29:29 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. We've got breaking news here right now. Tracy and Lila on with us for breaking news. What's going on, guys? Good morning. Good morning. Hi. Hi. We understand.

01:29:41 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 3:

We're a long time. Hey there. We're chasing you right on the phone.

01:29:44 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 2:

We understand there's big news. Somebody's nine years old today. Is that right?

01:29:51 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:29:51 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Lila. How are you doing?

01:29:53 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 3:

Nine years old.

01:29:54 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 2:

How are you? You good? What are you going to do for your birthday?

01:29:59 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm not.

01:30:00 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to go out to dinner after school, and I feel safe for my birthday at school.

01:30:05 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 2:

That's incredible. Where do you guys go to dinner? Where's your birthday place?

01:30:10 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 1:

Applebee's.

01:30:11 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 2:

I love Applebee's. Have the best time. Happy birthday to you. Mom, you got a beautiful nine-year-old today.

01:30:19 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 1:

That's so sad.

01:30:20 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Thank you very much.

01:30:21 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

Her wish has been calling on her birthday, so thank you.

01:30:26 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 2:

We apologize for the nipple piercing story that just happened right beforehand, but that was for you, Mom.

01:30:31 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 1:

That's okay. We'll have to have a conversation later. That's okay. We'll talk to you later.

01:30:35 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Bye.

01:30:36 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the dirty on the 30? Listen to our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

01:30:42 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 2:

I've got to wish a happy birthday to the very beautiful Fran Lucido from Lucido Fine Jewelries.

01:30:49 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 1:

Happy birthday, Fran. Happy birthday, Franny.

01:30:52 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 2:

41 years old today.

01:30:53 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 1:

She's going to love you.

01:30:54 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely gorgeous. By the way, that lady is hot.

01:30:57 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 1:

I saw her earlier this week. She, I swear to God, does not age.

01:31:01 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 2:

It's unreal. Well, I'll say what. Honestly, it's like my wife. They get better looking as they get older. You know what's even better than Fran's beauty? What's that? Her heart. Oh, I thought you were going to say her collection of Rolexes. Time is beautiful, isn't it? She's got a beautiful heart. Well, happy birthday to Fran, and I hope that, Fran, you get spoiled this weekend. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. I have no idea where this topic came from, but we got Zach over here. He got a topic on the board today. Give it to Zach. Let's go, guys.

01:31:37 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 1:

We got a topic on the board. Thank you.

01:31:40 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 2:

Super pumped. And this topic is an interesting one because I'm reading this going, I have no idea where this came from. Well, stranded on a desert island. Yes, I've been watching a lot of Survivor lately, like a lot.

01:31:51 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 1:

Really? Survivor's still on? Survivor, what do they say? I've never watched Survivor. Two more until 50. It's going to be crazy. Anyway, my God, let me see. They get off the island, don't they? They might. They might. I don't know yet. So basically, I'm watching it and I'm like, I don't know anyone on the show that I would really want to be stranded on an island with. You talk about our show? Oh, yeah.

01:32:17 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm not kidding.

01:32:18 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 1:

But there are two that I would pick if I have to. Hold on. Yeah. Do you want me to lay it down?

01:32:25 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 2:

No, not yet. I want to think about this for a second. Okay. So if we're going to be on an island. Yeah, like I'm going to say a plane crash. Okay. And we're stuck on an island. Did you ever watch that old show Lost? That show was crazy.

01:32:38 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 1:

I've never seen it. No?

01:32:40 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Lost was crazy.

01:32:41 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:32:41 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 2:

So we're all on the island together. Yep. And there's only two out of the one, two, three, four, five, six. How many do we have? Seven? Seven? Seven? Six? How are you going to count and then say how many we have? You just count it. I don't know.

01:32:54 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, but he's including Lydia and maybe Tony.

01:32:57 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So there's only Tony in there. Tony was going to be my sleeper. I wasn't going to bring that up. Oh. There's only two that you're going to choose, that you're going to choose to be with. And which two are you going to choose to be with?

01:33:10 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, without Tony involved, I would definitely pick Shannon and Lydia.

01:33:15 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:33:16 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Okay, why? Okay. I'll tell you the reasons why I wouldn't pick. The dumbest idea ever. Stop for a second.

01:33:22 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 2:

You guys. Don't even do anything. Oh, look, he's done with the topic. This is a dumb topic. He's done with the topic. No, dude, I... No, dude, I... No, dude, I... Nobody's taking you. You're choosing two people. You're just sad that I didn't pick you. No, no, no. You're on an island. You need... You don't need... Wait, let me explain this though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, go ahead.

01:33:39 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 1:

I know that Lydia and Shannon are going to help me make a fire, get food provided. Okay, I'm going to go to the fire. Never mind. Okay. I don't know about all that. I don't know if I'm making a fire.

01:33:49 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 2:

The only thing Shannon's going to be able to make is if Restoration Hardware has something that's actually going to help her with it.

01:33:54 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 1:

I don't like that store. It's too expensive for me. Yeah, bullcrap. Love you, buddy, but too much credit there. No, dude, I know that you would actually help with the camp. That I would do. Yeah. I would make it cozy. Thank you. With Bianca, though, like she's present, but she's not present. Bro, don't say anything. I did nothing to you. With Mojo, I don't know if he can lift up a stick with only one hand. Listen. You know what I'm saying? I would have two arms by that time.

01:34:19 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 2:

By that time. You have the source materials. This is a dumb, stupid topic this is.

01:34:25 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

You're going to get cozy like there's going to be a HomeGoods down the street. This isn't glamping. You know what? I would make it comfy for you. I'm sorry, Lydia. If I'm stuck there, it's happening.

01:34:36 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 2:

Don't call the pot. Hello, pot. This is Kettle. I'm Lydia. There's no hall road full of stores that you like to go to, too.

01:34:44 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 1:

And I can attest to that 100%.

01:34:46 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 2:

First off, let me say this to you. I'd choose Kevin because his car has everything we want in it. With all the crap that's in the trailer.

01:34:54 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

We need to take Tony out of the equation because every single one of us would pick Tony. He's so resourceful.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 2:

He could build anything out of anything.

01:35:02 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you this guy, Tony Travato. The guy is unbelievable. He gets mad at me. We had a pipe burst in our house, and then we had a water heater issue right afterwards. The guy's mad that I didn't call him up to fix it. He's my boss, not my plumber. You know what I mean? He's all crazy about it. He fixes and does all this stuff himself. It's insane. But I'm excited to be able ... I'm going to his son's graduation party, and I'm excited to go to his son's graduation party so I can look around the house and see how many things he has not finished yet in that entire house. Because I know his wife complains, Brooke says to me all the time, she's like, he starts something and then he has like eight or nine things that he has to do and he doesn't finish it. So if you're on the island, you're going to be on there for a while. That's

01:35:44 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 4:

my question. Is this to get off the island or is this to enjoy however long I'm going to be on the

01:35:50 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

island? My thought process was like a week, but you don't know that you're going to be there for just a week like mentally you're preparing for like honestly don't pick me because i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown well come on why do you say that because i'm gonna need to have I'm gonna have sex with somebody.

01:36:07 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 5:

And for those reasons, I'm out. We're gonna be there forever? Wait a second. I'm gonna have one girl. So Shannon and Lydia have fun. No. I'm just saying. We gotta have. And that's why I brought Shannon and Lydia.

01:36:23 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

That's the real reason, Zach. Zach doesn't give a damn amount. Now I'm happy not me to tell you. Zach would be like, come over here, big boy. By the way, I did this game with Kevin yesterday, but I can't tell you guys. I did this game with him when we were driving in the car yesterday, but it wasn't the survivor thing. It was, out of these three people, who would you have sex with? And we did it with people that we work with. And his answers, and I won't say any of them because HR would totally go crazy on it. His answers were wild. They weren't even close to what I would have thought he would have chose. I don't think that.

01:36:57 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 4:

What made them wild?

01:36:58 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 3:

It was just wild out of the blue.

01:37:00 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

Because they weren't what he would pick.

01:37:01 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, I threw three names out there. I threw, like, a salesperson's name. I threw somebody from one of the other radio stations. I put somebody from the show. Safe to say he didn't pick the person from the show.

01:37:12 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 5:

You guys are all safe.

01:37:14 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's weird. We're all friends.

01:37:16 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

But the person that he picked, the other people they picked were interesting. But let's go back to Zach and the Survivor. Oh, man. Who would you pick? To be on the island with? Yeah. None of you bastards. I would choose not on the island. Come on, man. I'd rather be alone. Okay, I'll tell you what. Can we do it in a different way? If I had to go and shop for Chelsea for Valentine's Day, I'd probably choose Shannon or Lydia to go with me shopping. You wouldn't pick me? I wouldn't choose you. You're insane. What are you going to go want to get? Chelsea loves me, and I love Chelsea. I know she does. I get something amazing. You get something crazy. I don't know.

01:37:49 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 4:

I get something amazing.

01:37:51 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 3:

Or how about this? Okay, here you go. Instead of on a deserted island. Is it a deserted or a desert island? Which one is it? I feel like deserted gets deserted. Is it?

01:37:59 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 4:

I like that.

01:37:59 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay, if it were at Somerset Collection.

01:38:05 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 5:

Same thing, same thing.

01:38:06 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Who would you choose? I'm taking you and Shannon. Or a Friday night going out for a nice dinner. Like, who are you going to choose? Can we do it that way instead of the island thing? Yeah, okay, for dinner, I would pick Mojo and Kevin. We're all picking Mojo, guys. But honestly, like, if it were hanging out in East Lansing, and I'd pick probably Bianca because she knows all the party bars.

01:38:30 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 5:

That's true.

01:38:31 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 3:

If I was with Bianca on Dad's Day instead of Luke on Dad's Day, I wouldn't have fell down the stairs. She would have cared for me so much. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Rick wants to make a comment. What's up, Rick?

01:38:44 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. First time on time.

01:38:45 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we're so many today. Sticky Ricky.

01:38:49 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 3:

We're all on the island together, Rick. What are your thoughts?

01:38:52 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 1:

So I think Zach's got a plan here. He's trying to build a multicultural, brand new population with Lydia in San Diego. Exactly. He's trying to sneak it in. He's trying to sneak it in.

01:39:03 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny? I was thinking of this because I used to watch The Walking Dead and it was wild on The Walking Dead how these people all survived together but then eventually they start banging each other and they start doing that thing.

01:39:14 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for sure. It's got to happen. I didn't watch it that far.

01:39:15 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 3:

All right, here's a question for you. If this was, instead of Survivor, Rick, if this was The Walking Dead, which show member would you eat and which show member would you eat?

01:39:24 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Zombie time. Yeah.

01:39:27 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 1:

And don't say me because I'm fat.

01:39:28 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 4:

Like, he's already trying to think about it.

01:39:31 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, see, it would last a while.

01:39:37 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 3:

Bastard. How hungry am I? What's up, Shelly? Hi. How you doing?

01:39:41 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 1:

Hey, happy long weekend, everybody. Happy holiday weekend.

01:39:45 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:39:47 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 1:

All right. So Lydia asked me who I would, you know, pick for an island. And this is what I said. I would take Lydia or Kevin because I want to be with somebody with a pure heart for Jesus. Come on now! Because that's the only way anybody survives.

01:40:00 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 3:

In that case, I wouldn't choose that, because he's got dirty thoughts in his head. What's going on, Corey? Hi.

01:40:22 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I was just calling up. Is Mike an option to bring on the island? You know what? That's a good one. He's a camper. Yes, Mike is an option. I'll take Mike.

01:40:30 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 3:

Mike and Tony Tramado Those would be the guys Does Mike carry a Swiss army knife? You know what? I don't think he needs it He can make a knife out of a stick With his bare hands Not chew it up Actually, I have a weird feeling about Mike And you guys tell me if I'm wrong on this one I think that they do kind of almost a little bit of glamping too Like I've seen the camper

01:40:53 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 1:

No, they glamp for sure

01:40:54 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 3:

But I think that Mike honestly is not the guy's guy that he makes himself out to be Like, I think he gets freaked out by bugs and stuff, and Allie kills all the bugs.

01:41:02 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 2:

He has coordinated outfits for his camping trips.

01:41:05 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay, he's definitely not the camping guy. But they're badass outfits.

01:41:08 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 2:

But still, they're outfits.

01:41:09 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's true. I don't know. Rachel, what are your thoughts on this, Rachel?

01:41:13 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 4:

So, if I were on an island, I would pick two. I would pick Shannon because she would think clearly on how to get off the island. It's true. It's true. I would want to out fast. I would pick Mojo because Shannon and I were going to have to eat something.

01:41:26 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 2:

and it's enough to go around by the way

01:41:30 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 3:

that is extremely dirty that you would think that you would want to eat me

01:41:34 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 2:

where would you which body part would you start with

01:41:37 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 3:

yes

01:41:38 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 2:

thighs no his arms his thighs

01:41:42 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 3:

now we're talking now I want to be on the island I want to get my thighs eaten by you guys

01:41:48 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 2:

where's the bite sound

01:41:50 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 3:

that Flintstones bite

01:41:51 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry go on

01:41:53 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 3:

I mean no dude Actually, no, I'm a bigger guy. It's a bigger. Christina, what's going on? Good morning. Hi, Christina.

01:42:05 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 4:

So I would definitely not pick Kevin to go shopping for anything. Why? I love you. Because for your birthday, you wanted some chick to buy you some gold. Yes. I'm with you. It's my birthday.

01:42:18 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm allowed to do crazy things. This guy.

01:42:21 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 4:

No, no. I'm good. I'm good.

01:42:25 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Christina. Hey, Erica, what's going on? How are you?

01:42:30 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 5:

Good. First and foremost, I want to say that I'm calling from Belgium so you don't also have French supporters. What? That's crazy. Is that Colette?

01:42:39 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Is that Germany? Where is Belgium? Is it Germany?

01:42:42 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 5:

Belgium. Yeah. I know we beat them in the Olympics. It's connected to France.

01:42:46 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 3:

Is it? Okay, so Belgium is its own country, right?

01:42:49 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 4:

Correct.

01:42:50 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. All right, man, I'm not good at this stuff.

01:42:52 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 4:

I love that we're all looking at each other. By the way, I have no idea.

01:42:55 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 3:

Somebody was telling me, I told somebody the other day, I go, I want to go to Dubai. And they go, where is it? I go, it's in the Middle East somewhere. And they're like, what's it next to? I go, I have no clue. I just heard it looks like a great place. What's going on, Erica?

01:43:07 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 5:

So if I were, you know, to be stuck in an island, I would think long term. So I would pick Shannon. And then I would also pick Kevin Blaine. Stop for a second. You can't just say that. Just let her have her pick. No. He's so mad.

01:43:18 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

What is your reasoning? She sounds like she's a smart person, but do we really think that she's actually that resourceful? I mean, let's call Wes up. I think Wes is the guy that does the resourceful stuff. She knows how to go shop at Costco for a trip out of town in Saga Dog.

01:43:32 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 2:

She says she had two people. Maybe you're her second option.

01:43:35 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

Who's your second option?

01:43:37 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 2:

Kevin.

01:43:38 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

There we go.

01:43:39 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 5:

I like this topic. Just a dumb topic. Long term, you have to procreate, you know? Oh, yeah. I've been there for a really long time.

01:43:49 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I know why she's doing this. You're doing this. You're picking Kevin because in all the movies, the black guy dies first.

01:43:57 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm her sacrifice. We got to get to Belgium. First time, long time.

01:44:05 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 3:

By the way, when you procreate and start eating his thighs, he's got some thighs. I wanted to start with another buddy. Thanks, Erica. Appreciate you. Love you.

01:44:14 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Love you all.

01:44:16 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 3:

Great topic from Zach.

01:44:17 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 5:

That was a great topic. Appreciate it. Great topic.

All right, it is mojo in the morning. um have you ever had pity sex if you're somebody that's ever had pity sex will you admit to it and just tell me like what was the reason why you decided to have it like you know maybe gave it up because you kind of felt bad for somebody or somebody was going through something tough so i tried to pull the whole let's have sex thing with chelsea and um she wasn't buying it at all i try to explain to her that i'm kind of getting like frustrated with the recovery from the shoulder surgery and stuff it's been almost three weeks can you guys believe that it's almost been

01:46:24 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 3:

three weeks i don't know how you're handling that that because that is not a normal sling where you can actually move your arm around it is strapped to you it is tight it is well and also

01:46:33 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 4:

when i get it out out when i when i pull it out i pull i pull my arm out my arm is so weak because of i haven't really been doing a lot with it so i'm kind of like i feel like you look at me and i look like i'm you know a person that's turned learning how to walk again and stuff you know what i mean like i i sat there and i looked at chelsea at one point and i'm like looking at her and i'm like i need you to help me you know one of those things and that's your fun arm and so i said to her i said to her last night we're just hanging out and i go hey you think we can like you know and she kind of looked at me like no you just had shoulder surgery whatever like she's loving this she's thinking that with shoulder surgery and they told me i had six months of physical therapy she's got six months where she's gotta do nothing you know what i mean like there's no sex at all like she's she wants my doctor uh his phone number so that she can call him up and have him write a script for no sex for six months like this is like the greatest thing ever for her and i'm trying to explain to her that i'd like to have a little pity sex i had a traumatic thing happened to me they cut me open yeah by the way i cut so i got my staples taken out and i had somebody actually that i showed the staples to a friend get all freaked out when they saw the staples not them pulling them out but they thought i should have groomed to go get my thing done because i have a little bit of hair on my shoulders didn't they save it when you got

01:47:57 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 3:

your surgery they did but it grew back because i saw the video we all you sent it to all i know

01:48:02 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 4:

i it grew back either she did a really bad job shaving the thing or it grows back very fast

01:48:07 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 3:

hey i got a full head around that though that's a lot no that wasn't a lot no yeah do you think

01:48:14 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 4:

Can I post that picture, by the way? Yeah, I think so. I want to post the picture. My friend says that I needed to go to Sandy or Julie over at Be Waxed and have them waxed.

01:48:28 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 3:

No, that's a sense of humor. Heck no.

01:48:30 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 5:

A little sugar wax. Yeah. I think you do deserve some pity sex, though.

01:48:35 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Kevin.

01:48:35 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 5:

Or at least, you know, some form of sex.

01:48:37 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:48:38 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 5:

Something to lift your spirits. Call Chelsea up. To lift your spirits.

01:48:40 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 4:

When you call Chelsea, Kevin's going to talk to Chelsea. Yeah, I'll do it. Thank you. I appreciate that. Have you ever had pity sex, Shannon?

01:48:46 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was going to tell you, you have to be really careful because, so Wes had to get his nose done. He had a nose job. He broke his nose four times. They basically had to recreate a nose for him out of his rib, which is so disgusting. Like that's how torn apart his nose was. It wasn't for vanity. That was like a year ago or something like that. It was like two years ago. Two years ago, okay. And so his whole face and his rib, his left rib was all bandaged up because of this, it It was an eight and a half hour surgery. It was crazy. And they said to him, like, no physical activity. You got like, that man did not care. And same thing was like giving me the puppy eyes. And I'm like, how, how, like, is that even going to, God forbid I like hit your nose or hit your rib or whatever. And he made me feel so bad that he had just been put through the ringer with this surgery. And it was the oddest sex I've ever had because of the position. But I mean, I mean, I did feel bad.

01:49:43 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 4:

You could take care of him. He doesn't need to do anything. He could sit back and relax.

01:49:47 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 3:

That's not what he wanted, though.

01:49:48 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 4:

It's like staking a BJ day all over again.

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

I've had pity sex, and I've given pity sex. I had pity sex because I had COVID. And I was like, man, I'm just in this bed so long.

01:50:00 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 6:

fuck, I just want to feel what it's like to live again. I was able to live again. And then giving pity, I was with a, I was off and on. Sometimes I've been in situations where I haven't titled the relationship, even though we kind of know what it is, but I still have like the flexibility of saying we're not in a relationship. I've lived that life before, but I knew that I was going to end this relationship with somebody because I had somebody else that I really wanted to be in a relationship with. And I had never ate her cookies. Oh my God.

01:50:28 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 5:

And I was like, you know what, let me send you off the right way. So this was your going out with a bang, so to speak. Oh, my God. And you were going to send her on her way, right? Did she know she was getting broken up on? It was kind of tailing off. Oh, my God. This is going to be our last time. So you guys had a little cookies. All right, what's going on, Kelsey?

01:50:48 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. First time, long time. Hey, Kelsey on the phone. And first of all, just a quick comment. I would say to the desert island comment um Shannon I would take you and I would take Wes because I just adore you guys and you guys would give me hope so oh or that or that I did I did meet her at the car show and yeah she raved your engine that's sweet no that's so sweet uh pity sex who would you have you ever had pity sex oh yeah so I was dating this guy um we were fun for a long time and he always wanted to date me so it was kind of one of those things where i was like okay we'll try it so when i ended up breaking up with him it was really emotional ended up being like a 12 hour breakup um and we had sex two times through it throughout it man but every time after i was like yeah i still don't want to be with you sorry did you feel bad though that you were

01:51:44 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 5:

only giving him sex because you felt bad that you were breaking up with him no it's just because i

01:51:50 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 3:

have such a hard time with that like i hate hurting people so it was like okay i'll give you a little bit and then that's why it was probably being more traumatic for him but that was why it

01:51:59 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 5:

was an eight-hour breakup because you guys were resting in the middle just to go have sex with

01:52:03 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 3:

each other yeah and then it would be like the whole like oh so is there is a chance and i'm

01:52:08 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 5:

like no so i really screwed myself there you're playing with the guy's mind for god's sake rob

01:52:13 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 2:

hi what's going on what's going on i got a black eye so yes it was pity sex wait who gave you the black eye the lady i had i had sex with um i was at i was at a party and she had a hole in her jeans and i started messing with it she turned and gave me a black eye oh and so because she hits you in the eye you're like all right now you got to give it up no actually she was her idea i was on my way out the door after i got punched and she's like you're staying after oh man honestly i like girls

01:52:45 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 5:

like that uh what's up sarah hi hello how are you sarah have you ever given pity sex um yeah

01:52:53 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 4:

not too proud of it but um my boyfriend uh got into a motorcycle accident and uh that night

01:53:00 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 5:

asked for some so oh yeah did he have did he fall off the bike and like have like all kind of road

01:53:07 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 4:

scars all over him yeah he had a bunch of road burn on his side in his back and so you ended up

01:53:14 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 5:

just giving him the best sex he could ever have to take his mind off of that i think it was the

01:53:19 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 4:

worst but he he still talks about it you know what's funny though i i don't know if i'd want

01:53:24 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 5:

to be touched like i definitely didn't want to have sex like the day or two after but when i was when i had my surgery but i will tell you this it was the only thing i thought about that would calm me down when i was going through that time where i couldn't fall asleep because i was coming

01:53:39 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 4:

off of pain meds so yeah it was literally hours after like it was the craziest thing ever That's nuts.

01:53:45 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 5:

I wonder what it would be like. I wonder if I would actually be able to perform. High off my eyes? Yeah, like that. Only one way to find out. Call Chelsea. By the way, notice that Lydia did not call Chelsea. Or if she did, she got bumped.

01:53:58 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 1:

Maybe she did it, yeah.

01:54:00 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Joe in the morning. You know, what's funny is that I always thought that Yelp was done with, and nobody does Yelps anymore. You don't Yelp at all, do you?

01:54:08 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

Mm-mm.

01:54:09 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I don't ever. It used to be one of those things where you'd do it And people cared about it Nowadays I feel like nobody does

01:54:16 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 1:

Plus it's so negative And I feel like so many reviews are fake It's like a competitor who's writing the review

01:54:22 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 5:

It's like social media though And the thing that bothers me with social media In things like Yelp Is I've talked to some people that own restaurants And they'll say that if you get a bad review Like on Google or Yelp That it's hard to get rid of the thing Especially if you're somebody that doesn't pay money To advertise like it's like they it's almost kind of like the people that pay money to advertise can pay to get rid of the bad reviews yeah it's crazy so there's a there's a lot of shenanigans going on right there's a lot of craziness but i do have this the 25 best burger chains in the u.s talk to me 25 best burgers and i'm shocked when i see some of these names up here because fast food uh

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 4:

I guess these are kind of fast, semi-fast.

01:55:03 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 6:

Okay, fast, casual.

01:55:04 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, because I think of some of these places as not really necessarily just a fast food place. Like, I don't think Red Robin's fast food is. I got you. But they're on here. Number one, and this is the funniest thing, because any time I go out west to go visit Chelsea's family, we have eaten at this one. That's number one.

01:55:23 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 5:

Wait, before you're starting at number one, you're not going to, like, go 5, 4, 3, 2, 1? What do you think I am? What am I, Ryan Seacrest?

01:55:28 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 4:

Counting down the top songs in the country on the weekend?

01:55:31 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 6:

What's the point of having a list if you're going to start with one? He just gave it away. What was it?

01:55:34 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'll start at the bottom. I'll start it from the bottom. 100. All right. On the bottom. And by the way, you can add and subtract whatever you want to do on this. The bottom in this big list, Steak and Shake. It's funny. I have not had Steak and Shake since I was in college.

01:55:51 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:55:52 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 4:

Which is wild that Steak and Shake's on this list. Next is Checkers or Rally's. Never had. You know, whatever they call it. I'll go for the fries. Carl's Jr.'s, which we don't have Carl's Jr.'s, do we?

01:56:03 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 6:

Do we still have Hardee's? It's up north somewhere. Carl's Jr., same thing.

01:56:07 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 4:

Wendy's.

01:56:08 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:56:08 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 4:

Which I have not had a Wendy's burger in a long time. I have had Wendy's chili. Chili still slept. It's the best. It's so easy.

01:56:16 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 6:

I had some last week. The chili is the leftover burger meat.

01:56:18 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 4:

You know that, right? It's, I love it.

01:56:20 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 6:

There's nothing bad about that. I'm just saying that's what it is. It sounds bad.

01:56:23 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 4:

Fat burger.

01:56:24 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 6:

Never heard of.

01:56:25 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 4:

which I think I've seen Fat Burgers when I've gone to Atlanta or gone to places like that White Castle

01:56:34 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 5:

boy I'm telling you I used to smoke weed a lot boy that used to be the spot

01:56:38 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Ashley Nix call Ashley Nix call the Joe show

01:56:44 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 6:

01:57:23 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 6:

is the greatest cheese just a cheeseburger and a mcdonald's cheese they're onions for some reason

01:57:29 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 4:

i love those the pickles damn y'all tart smash smash burger is on this list smash burger used to be a thing like i think smash burgers so 2010 that's like the smaller burgers smash smash burger is where they smash the burgers.

01:57:46 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, literally? I never knew that.

01:57:48 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 4:

They smash the burgers down. And they have places called Smash Burger. They have Smash Burger in West Bloomfield, I think. Actually, I like Smash Burger.

01:57:56 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 5:

It's a girl that, I forgot her name. She just opened up one on Jefferson, too.

01:58:01 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 4:

Wahlburgers is way down on the bottom of the list. I thought those guys went out of business, Wahlburgers. Me too. Which I was surprised by, because there was a lot of hype behind them. Whataburger.

01:58:11 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 6:

Never had.

01:58:12 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 4:

Burger Fi. They went out of business, I think, didn't they? Never heard of them. I used to do commercials for them, and then they went away. They were good. I thought they were good. Cookout. I don't even know what the hell that is. Jack in the Box. They came to Michigan, and I heard now they're not doing. Somebody told me they came to Michigan. Hold on a second. Joe Show is on with us right now. Joe Show. Hello, Joe Show. What up, y'all? Hey, I'm going to say a name, and I want to see if somebody squeals like they just got touched in the right spot. White Castles

01:58:44 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 1:

Ooh, I love White Castles I knew you would

01:58:50 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 4:

What is By the way, what is it with you And your horrible taste buds

01:58:55 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

White Castle Is like top here It's gourmet food

01:59:00 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 4:

White Castle's not gourmet food We're going through the list Of the best burger chains And they're on the list of the best And I said, Ashley loves White Castle

01:59:10 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 6:

Do you have Crystal in Florida? And at number 99, White Castle. Because isn't Crystal the same?

01:59:16 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 5:

It is.

01:59:17 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 6:

It's the same as White Castle.

01:59:18 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 4:

There's no Crystals in Tampa, right?

01:59:21 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. There's no Apple. It is in Kentucky. Now, look, Ashley, you going to White Castle just like on a normal sober night? Or is this like...

01:59:31 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to go there at noon. I'm going to go there at midnight. I'm going to go there at 5 p.m. in the evening. I'm going there when I want four sliders, a six-piece chicken ring, and a onion ring.

01:59:41 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 3:

For $5. White Castle opened in Orlando. White Castle opened in Orlando, like two hours away from Ashley, and she drove there opening day and waited in line for it. I can't plan.

01:59:51 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 2:

My girlfriend and my girlfriend are actually driving there this weekend.

01:59:54 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 3:

That is crazy. Fun fact, Ashley has a girlfriend.

01:59:56 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 5:

You got to get a Crave case. Eat it on Twitch. How does...

02:00:00 - 02:00:01 | Speaker 4:

How does Ashley...

02:00:01 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 3:

She's coming into town in a couple hours.

02:00:04 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 4:

Ashley doesn't go to Disney World or Universal Studios. She goes to White Castle when she goes up to Orlando. The castle, that is craziness. I'm going to the real castle. White Castle. It's so funny. I laugh because when I lived in Arizona where Joe was born in Tucson, we would go back to Chicago to visit my family, land at Midway Airport, and there was a White Castle across the street. And Chelsea would get violently ill because we would go through the drive-thru of White Castle because I miss them so much. There was something about not having them, and she thought they were the grossest things ever. I am with her.

02:00:42 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

That smell does it. It's going in one way.

02:00:44 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

Extra pickle, extra onion.

02:00:45 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 4:

It's definitely coming up.

02:00:46 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Get onion chips. Oh, yeah, onion chips.

02:00:49 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 4:

Other burger places on here. Rod Robin is on here. I love Red Robin. What did you say? Rod Robin? It was across between Rod Roddy. I was having a stroke. I was having a stroke when you were making fun of me. I know your tongue, Doc. I don't know what Mooyah burgers and fries and shakes are, but what is Mooyah burgers?

02:01:11 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 3:

That's McDonald's.

02:01:13 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 4:

No, no. I can pronounce things. Five Guys burgers and fries. Joe, you used to love Five Guys.

02:01:23 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 3:

I love it. Give me the bag of the French fries. The grease is dripping out of the bag. Ruining your car.

02:01:30 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Randomly, they have a great grilled cheese there, too. You got to have a towel in the car when you hit.

02:01:35 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Five guys. Unbelievable. I love five guys. Oh, my God. Freddy's frozen custard and steak burgers. It's got to be a West Coast thing. Island burgers. Culver's. I love Culver's. Okay, I love Culver's.

02:01:51 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 2:

I love Culver's. I'm getting Culver's today.

02:01:53 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 4:

Do they have Culver's In Tampa

02:01:57 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 3:

That's where you see people Rage out and then they throw Their milkshakes at the people That's Culver's

02:02:05 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 4:

Culver's concrete shakes are the greatest I've never had food there I've only had mixers Their fries are the best

02:02:12 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 3:

I dated a girl who worked the drive through of there And then she called me her ex-boyfriend's name When we were making out Swear to god it happened Very random story I won't eat Culver's Well, it was just proof that I made out with a girl.

02:02:28 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 4:

Shake Shack. Luke DoorDash Shake Shack last night. I said to Luke, I go, there's no Shake Shack by us. The DoorDash came from like five zip codes away. It was crazy.

02:02:37 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 2:

I do love Shake Shack. I know you don't like it.

02:02:40 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 4:

Shake Shack in New York, the original, was the greatest thing. Joe, do you remember when you were a kid and we went to Shake Shack for the first time ever?

02:02:49 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it was life-changing. you brought that up i dreamt about it last night such a dick what why i can't believe that your

02:03:00 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 4:

mom and i actually had you if we weren't if we weren't catholic we probably wouldn't have but habit burger grill the habit burger this is not fun when you don't know half the names and the Number one burger place in the country on Yelp, In-N-Out Burger. In-N-Out Burger is so interesting. It's good, but I don't know if I would be number one. I've had In-N-Out Burger when we've gone to visit family, and I think it's bogus. It's me. Yeah. Shut up. I don't like it. All right, we'll let you guys go. You guys go do your show. All right. We're done. I love you guys. I love you guys.

02:03:42 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 2:

Have any of you guys been to this place over here that everybody talks about in Eastern Market? It's like two doors down from the radio station.

02:03:48 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 4:

The place looks like it's a drug den. Do you know what it's called? Really? It does.

02:03:52 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 2:

It looks super sketch. Me and Mojo were supposed to go. Remember Mojo? What is it called, Lydia? I have no idea. Zach goes there. Burgers near me.

02:03:59 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 4:

What's it called, Zach? Cutters. Cutters. Oh, yeah. Cutters Burgers.

02:04:02 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 2:

I've never ate there at all.

02:04:04 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 4:

I just had Hennessy. People really love Cutters. Lydia and I were going to go there, and I said to her, I go, I don't know. I think we can get ourselves into trouble. It's a good vibe in here. Is it? Yeah, it's a good vibe in here. Hello to Taylor. Taylor, are you there?

02:04:17 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm calling all the way from L.A. to defend in and out. What?

02:04:23 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 4:

Is it that good?

02:04:25 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 1:

It's that good. It's cheap. Their prices don't change. It's open all the time. There's a million. Come on. Come on.

02:04:33 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 4:

That's unreal. I don't understand why they don't go out east by us. I don't know why they don't come out to the Midwest, at least.

02:04:40 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 1:

What is it? West of the Mississippi River. I think so. Yeah.

02:04:44 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 4:

They got a secret menu. What's the best burger on their menu? Like, do they have, like, I love McDonald's Quarter Pounder with cheese. What do you like there?

02:04:52 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 1:

You get the double-double. If you're feeling crazy, you go animal style. But always add grilled onions.

02:04:57 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Wait, animal style? Mm-hmm. That's.

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 2:

animal style oh my gosh all right well now you're talking grilled onions and like a special sauce

02:05:06 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 4:

i don't know okay it's cracking all right thank you taylor appreciate it uh amber is in georgia calling us talking about how crystals is better than white castle is that right uh so crystals

02:05:18 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 2:

is far superior than white castles when you're down south but when i you know i'm i live in michigan but i used to live in georgia for a little bit and uh down there i was craving some white castle and somebody said you know there's crystals and it's way better and i'm like i'll be the judge of that so so i had crystals and i'm like okay it's like white castle only like more bougie it's like super nice okay like what's the difference though um it the their sandwiches are

02:05:51 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 4:

much more appealing to look at sandwiches there to look at yeah their sliders their sliders are

02:05:57 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 2:

much better to look at they're not as messy as white castle do you smell like it because whenever

02:06:02 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 4:

i've gone in white castle and i've gone in you smell like white castle for like eight years really yeah uh ray what's up it's mojo in the morning hi well they do say you eat with the

02:06:15 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 3:

eyes first right so i mean and it's true sandwiches have to look better than they do taste white castles my parents used to call white castles sliders yes because they slide down your throat and then they slide right back out and i heard i heard kevin make a i heard kevin make a comment about them just not coming out the same way and it just reminded me of my parents just

02:06:37 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 4:

calling them sliders i had to comment on that real quick time it is it is so true by the way You got to block off a half an hour of your day after White Castle. I don't understand why White Castles doesn't just embrace that and have their commercials with a toilet sound effect in the entire commercial. Because honestly, we enjoy them, right? We love doing it. You know what the best thing at White Castles used to be before I had the gluten allergy? Were their onion things that they had. It was like onion pieces or straws or something like that. You don't like onion rings, do you? Onion rings are the greatest. I don't.

02:07:12 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 5:

I like them.

02:07:13 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 4:

I love, like, big frickin' fat onions.

02:07:15 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 5:

So do I. I really do. It's a bad.

02:07:18 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, now I'm hungry. Let's go get cutters. Let's see if cutters is good. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Nobody said anything. Zach, for our protection, will you go in and check it out for us?

02:07:32 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 5:

02:07:33 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 4:

02:07:56 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:07:58 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with the Dirty, the last one of the week. Hey, man.

02:08:02 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 5:

All right, so it was a big day.

02:08:04 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 4:

Is this the last one of May?

02:08:05 - 02:08:05 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:08:06 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 4:

When is May? No. No, no, yeah. No. We still got some May.

02:08:09 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so Scott Muscuddy, better known as rapper Kid Cuddy, on the stand in the trial of Sean Combs yesterday, compared Diddy to a Marvel supervillain.

02:08:21 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 1:

The Grammy-winning rapper known as Kid Cuddy arriving at court in a leather jacket, smoking a cigarette. Inside, he told the jury about his suspicions that Sean Combs broke into his house and later firebombed his car. The jury seeing these images of Kid Cuddy's torched convertible. The top of my Porsche was cut open, he said. that's where they inserted the Molotov cocktail. The defense has said Combs was simply not involved in the alleged arson. The rapper, whose real name is Scott Muscutty, briefly dated Cassie Ventura. She said it made Combs jealous and angry. In previous testimony, Ventura said she sent her mother this email saying Combs threatened that he will be having someone hurt me and Scott Muscutty. Muscutty said he arranged to meet Combs in Los Angeles. He said he remembered walking in and seeing Combs standing at a window with his arms behind his back like a Marvel supervillain. Kid Cuddy said he asked Combs, what are we going to do about my car? He looked right back at me, very cold stare and said, I don't know what you're talking about. After testifying, Miss Cuddy posted this video to Instagram expressing relief. This is a stressful situation. I'm glad it's behind me. Kid Cuddy's car fire has been talked about for more than a decade, but it's significant now as federal prosecutors are trying to convince the jury here that Sean Combs used arson as part of a criminal enterprise. That's something he denies. And that would figure into that racketeering charge okay

02:09:43 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 5:

so that's why his testimony was so important. I do want to mention really quickly that during cross-examination Cuddy did testify he was aware of the abuse that Cassie had suffered at the hands

02:09:52 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

of Sean Combs. Wow well this whole ditty thing is going to be interesting because they're gonna be off for a couple of days, and the prosecution really hasn't gotten there.

02:10:00 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 5:

that out-of-the-park thing. A lot of people thought that the Cassie testimony was the out-of-the-park. I think that for what they're trying to get him convicted of, like all those federal crimes, I don't think he's got it.

02:10:14 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, Cuddy was important because it showed that arson piece, burglary. I mean, he was in his home. Cassie showed, and I think we're going to hear from more victims to the coercion piece. Coercion? Yeah. Oh, my God. You got it, you got it. I think that it's we're going to have to honestly, it's a lot.

02:10:32 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 5:

If there are the rumors out there that he has paid off and done some racketeering stuff or he's paid some legal people to take care of business for him. That's the stuff that has to come forward to get Diddy, I think, put away forever.

02:10:45 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 4:

I'm reading too much into this and I know it, but that's who I am. Who inserts a Molotov cocktail? Don't you throw him? Usually that's what I thought. I've never heard anybody like that and just place it in. That just sounded like a lot of me, but I don't know.

02:11:01 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 3:

A major development in the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. You knew this was going to happen. Taylor Swift, no longer a part of this thing. Baldoni's legal team has withdrawn the subpoena involving Taylor. So she was initially subpoenaed because of her close friendship with Blake. These allegations suggesting that she was involved in a script rewrite meeting. and that Bleak had used their friendship for leverage. However, Taylor's reps have always clarified from the moment her name was brought into this that she had no involvement in the film's production whatsoever. Her song was used. That's about it. And lastly, I mean, you want him as your teammate. We talked yesterday about Shea Gilgis, Alexander SGA, becoming the MVP, getting that MVP award finally. yesterday gifted the entire Oklahoma City Thunder team with some Rolexes.

02:11:56 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate you guys. Love you guys. And just to, I guess, show my love, I got some gifts for y'all. As you know what, everyone just come over and grab it and then open it up like this. Wow.

02:12:07 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, and that wasn't all.

02:12:09 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 2:

There is some wrist work in there that I promised y'all.

02:12:13 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Everybody got a Rolex, a brand new iPhone, Beats by Dre headphones, and custom Canada goose jackets, which are worth a grand right there. Your move, Mojo. Your move. Yeah, wait a second. Wait, if you get into the Hall of Fame.

02:12:27 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 5:

If I get into the Hall of Fame.

02:12:29 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 3:

Do Kevin and I get Rolls? No, no, no, no.

02:12:31 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 5:

I will buy you guys Cutter's hamburgers. Swatch watches. I'll get you. No, what other form of watch? You'll get a G-Shock? I'll get you guys a Timex because it keeps on ticking.

I don't know if I can allow this to have a chance to make the air twice in one show where we rip on Shannon's husband, Wes. I can't allow this.

02:13:17 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 3:

I do feel kind of bad. This is awful. But I don't think we're still going to do it.

02:13:21 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 5:

What's happening? This is like Shannon trying to get her Just Desserts in right now.

02:13:25 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 3:

He's at work now.

02:13:26 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Is it? Okay. You're safe. Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon has a complaint about something that Wes does that I wonder if any other significant others, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, do to their spouses. But what is it that he does?

02:13:41 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 3:

Is my microphone? Oh, there we go. Okay. It was my headphones. So we will be in the car and whether I'm driving or Wes is driving, but it just happened and Wes was driving and I'm like, oh, okay, I'm, you know, I don't have to pay attention. So I'm going to return some phone calls that I've been meaning to return. I will get on my phone to make a phone call and he will get on his phone, which is then in the speaker in the car and start chatting away as I'm already on my phone call. And I look at him and I'm like, get off the phone. I was on the phone first because I can't hear my phone call because he's got the whole car speaker system going with his phone call.

02:14:22 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 5:

In all fairness, did you call, hey, I got to make some phone calls?

02:14:26 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 3:

He can see and hear that I am on the phone. I am 12 inches away from him.

02:14:30 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 5:

You got to communicate this, Shannon.

02:14:33 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

02:14:34 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 5:

Well, you have to call it out. It's kind of like throwback throwdown. You scream out your name. Your name is your buzzer.

02:14:39 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 3:

No. You got to scream out. I was on the phone with my sister. or I'm already admitted into the conversation, and then all of a sudden he's on the phone with his brother.

02:14:48 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 5:

You can't do that. No, but he feels left out, too. I don't think you're, when you're in a car, you can't just start making phone calls on a handheld talk.

02:14:56 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 3:

You can't have competing phone calls.

02:14:57 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 5:

No, no, you can't, you got to part.

02:15:00 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 4:

If you're in a car, you're in a closed space. You got to have everybody part of the conversation. Literally every time I've been in your car, you're on the phone. Yes. But I'm on the speaker.

02:15:09 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 5:

But it's not like I'm a part of the conversation.

02:15:11 - 02:15:15 | Speaker 4:

But so here's the thing. Kevin's here. You can have a conversation. If you want to talk, you can talk.

02:15:15 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

If I'm in your car and you're already on the phone, I'm not going to make a phone call. That's so rude.

02:15:21 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 4:

And also the other thing, too, is he's the driver. He gets the call on.

02:15:24 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't care. It's who gets on the phone first. And it was me.

02:15:27 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 5:

I'm with you there. but you can't be on the phone for more than five minutes. You guys. If you have to make a call, because at that point, I can't even listen to the radio because the radio is going to be too loud. So I'm just sitting there having to deal with your conversation, and you probably just, girl talking with your sister is probably not even important, which is annoying as hell if I'm in the car driving. That's the last thing I want to hear is y'all cackling next to me. I agree.

02:15:47 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 4:

You probably are doing that with your sister.

02:15:49 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 5:

I can see it on your face.

02:15:52 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Are we Team Shannon or Team Wes on this one? I'm Team Wes.

02:15:59 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 3:

Two people cannot be on the phone at the same time in the car.

02:16:02 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 4:

What do you think, Lydia? What are your thoughts on this one?

02:16:06 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

02:16:09 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 4:

You're just like, you're just going.

02:16:10 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 3:

It is when you can't hear the person on the other end of the phone. And Wes is a loud talker, too, which is adding insult to injury.

02:16:16 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 4:

But don't you agree with us that Wes has the rights on this one here? He's the man.

02:16:24 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I do agree. Sorry, phone's ringing.

02:16:26 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 4:

But even if I'm the driver, the same thing happens. And remember, Chaldean women always make sure that their men are all taken care of.

02:16:34 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:16:35 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 3:

Not anymore. That's why I'm dating a white man. Who looks like Aiden Hutchinson.

02:16:40 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 4:

I hope you date a white man like Wes that gets on the phone.

02:16:45 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 3:

And you guys are saying it wrong. Kevin taught us yesterday.

02:16:47 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 4:

White.

02:16:48 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 3:

White. White man. He's a white man.

02:16:52 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That was, by the way, one of my favorite conversations. What's up, Jones? How you doing? Your thoughts on this, Jones? Jones.

02:16:59 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm going with Wes because you can't be on the phone if I'm driving the car. And you already know if I'm in a Chevrolet or something like that, thanks to y'all. It's going to connect straight to my phone anyway. So, yeah, you got to listen to this or I'm not listening to your conversation. It's automatic.

02:17:18 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 4:

It's on your Apple CarPlay. You got it already attached to the phone. You can't take it off. Yes. Exactly.

02:17:24 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 6:

This is wild. They can wait until I drop them off to get on the phone.

02:17:29 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what my wife does, Jones? My wife overprograms her phone in my car when I'm driving. So I drive my car, and I get in my car, and all of a sudden, it's got dat bitch on there.

02:17:41 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 5:

Taking pole position.

02:17:43 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Dat bitch overtakes Tom's phone. Yes.

02:17:46 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 6:

But that's why you guys keep calling me Jones. You can't pronounce my first name, can you?

02:17:50 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 4:

It's Jonas Ayazond. I don't know. What is it?

02:17:53 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 6:

What's your name? Nebuchadnezzar. That's out the Bible.

02:17:59 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 4:

You are Jones.

02:18:02 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 6:

You're an intellectual. A lot of people don't know that.

02:18:05 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Jesus. Yeah, you're right about that. Nebuchadnezzar, you're right. Henry, whose team are we on in this one?

02:18:14 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 6:

We're going to be with Wes. You got to call it out. Shannon, you got to call out.

02:18:19 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 3:

So I can't make a phone call at all if I'm not driving. And it doesn't matter if I'm already on the phone.

02:18:24 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 4:

You didn't call it out, though.

02:18:26 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you got to call it out. I'm a little wet on this one.

02:18:30 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes, you can't all of a sudden do it. I'm sorry. You committed a foul. There is a car foul there. It's in the Secretary of State manual that you should have gotten when you were going through driver's education at Grosse Hill High School. Ashley, I bet you she'll be on Team Shannon because everybody's on. What's going on, Ashley? Who's team you on?

02:18:50 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm on Shannon's team. My baby daddy, I hate getting in the car with my baby daddy. If somebody calls my phone, it's important. I don't talk on the phone unless, you know, it's somebody important. And his voice is so deep and so loud that I get distracted and I can't help but hear him. And I'm always, like, hitting him in his arm, like, bro, quiet down, shut up. Like, he's going to keep talking, and it's so frustrating. I hate it. And then I'm just sitting there looking at him side-eye. By the time you get off the phone, I've got to wait. I have to wait.

02:19:28 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't have choice. And I also think it's rude to the person that you're talking to.

02:19:32 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 4:

Lexi, what's up, Lexi? You say you're not on either side. It depends. What does it depend on?

02:19:39 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 1:

I think it depends on the importance of the phone call. Oh, that's a good one. I have Shannon's back. I have Shannon's back with the fact that if they're both just chatting with a sibling with no importance to it. Whoever's on the phone call first, you don't just call and just have two phone calls going around when someone can't hear.

02:19:58 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 3:

So I was on the phone first. So then Wes was in the wrong. That's what you're saying, right? Just clarifying. Just clarify that. Yes, if he wasn't picking up like a work phone call or anything, that was of importance. Yeah, who is Wes calling when you're on the phone with your sister? I mean, it depends. It could be his brother. They're talking about how the Toronto Maple Leafs lost, you know, whatever. I don't care. Oh, that was a day guy, Wes and his team. Hold on. This is great. Initial M wants to be voice disguised. Why do you want to be voice disguised?

02:20:27 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 1:

Because I just, my wife listens to the show every once in a while. And? And I love her. I'm madly in love with her. She's pretty. We've been married 25 years. Once in a while, I have a couple beers. So, hey, honey, she cannot talk and put her foot on the gas pedal at the same speed. It's like rocking a boat back and forth, and I get nauseous. But to get on to, I'm on Shannon's side because she was first. If Wes had an emergency, I could see that, but I'm on Shannon's side.

02:21:00 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 3:

But wait a second, quick question for you. You're voice disguised and your wife listens to the show. Are you afraid of your wife, that you're not a man enough to talk in your regular voice?

02:21:11 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't want to break her feelings. Because then if I drink and I need her to drive, then she'll say, oh, well, you don't like my drive-in.

02:21:18 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know. That's horrible.

02:21:20 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy, Em, because you told me you were scared of your wife hearing your voice.

02:21:23 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, listen.

02:21:24 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 1:

A little bit. A little bit.

02:21:26 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you know, I'm attracted to her. She's got the power. You know what I mean? I hope that she never understands who this initial M is that's voiced this guy right now. Right, Em? No. Yeah, I thought of that, too, when I was on hold. All right. Well, good luck to you. Have a great day, Em. Thank you. I love you guys. Bye. Love you, too.

02:21:47 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX. Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

02:22:01 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 3:

We have some special people that are in studio with us. There's a couple of people that are here that I know, and then there's some that I don't know, and I'm just meeting for the first time. But will you guys put your hands together, please, and say hello to Michelle and Kevin, and this beautiful family of theirs. Michelle is a huge Hardcore Mojo in the Morning listener. Kevin, I don't know. He doesn't look like you. Maybe not so much. Who knows? Maybe he has to listen to the show because she forces him to. We've got Son Grant, who is a senior at the, what is this, Mechanical Engineering RPI. Is that right? We've got Grayson, who is a sophomore at University of Cincinnati Bearcats. Okay. And studying nursing. And we've got Dane, who is a sophomore at South Lyon East High School. Let's go. Welcome to Michelle and her gorgeous men. What's going on? You are surrounded, huh? Are you the queen of the house because you've got all these guys, all this dude? Yeah, definitely the queen of the house. This is like Chelsea. Chelsea, the funny thing is, you probably are like my wife, aren't you? You rule the whole house, right? Yeah.

02:23:11 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm a boy mom. Anybody who knows me and knew me growing up says, oh, yeah, this is intended to be.

02:23:17 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 3:

02:24:07 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 2:

what was the fundraiser for what was the organization so uh tom's wife gina has ms And this was a gala fundraiser for Neuronha Nights, which is a fundraiser for the Michigan chapter for multiple sclerosis. And we go every year. There's a group of us that go every year. It's a super fun night. And they have a silent auction. And this item was up there. And we usually try to bid on an experience, something that we couldn't just go buy in a store. And I saw this one. And I went up to Kevin and went, we're coming home with this. Yeah, this is the one.

02:24:36 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 3:

He said, and I don't know if he was trying to flatter me, but he said that you and some other people were hovering over it.

02:24:42 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes, there was a bidding war. I like that. There was a covert operation to make sure that she was distracted so I could swoop in.

02:24:48 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 3:

Tom, you should have sold three of them, whichever one I wanted. I got a random question real quick. Because when you said their children's names, two of them started with a G, one started with a D. What happened?

02:24:59 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

I have been asking.

02:25:00 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 1:

that my entire life um it was so grant was first uh grayson was four down from him in the name book there was nothing behind the gr it just happened but then we had dane and they said no g name like

02:25:11 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 2:

The economy ain't the greatest, but we-

02:26:56 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 4:

And he's one of the very few that are here all the time.

02:26:59 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 2:

All the time.

02:27:00 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 4:

Probably the first one that's here outside of us. Exactly. Every day.

02:27:03 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 2:

And we get great results for our clients. So if you seriously, we do great stuff for great people. So, well, welcome here. I would like to also introduce you to a lady who, she should be sued for this, but one time was my trainer. She was my trainer at one time. And she probably should have lost her training license for training me. Mary Jo. Mary Jo Sanders. By the way, Mary Jo Sanders. And I hate to say this because I know you're more than just your dad's daughter, but your dad meant so much to you and all your sisters and everybody in your family. The legendary Charlie Sanders, Hall of Fame, Detroit Lions superstar. Let's go. God rest his soul. We love that man. And he always, anytime I ever saw him, though, he was always dressed to the nines.

02:27:50 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 5:

He's the best. That was mostly my work. Was it really? Yeah. I think that's why he had girls. You know, he's like, anybody who has girls, they have a better fashion sense because their daughters won't let them out of the house.

02:28:02 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 2:

This is no joke. I would see him on the field, you know, at a game, or I would see him out at an event or wherever it might be. The guy, first off, was the nicest guy ever. players that now are playing for the Lions all speak of Charlie and the influence that he gave so many players over the years. The man dressed unbelievable.

02:28:24 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 5:

The only time he dressed down was put in a

02:28:26 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 2:

Lions uniform. Mary Jo is a professional boxer and this is big news, you guys. She's just been inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

02:28:37 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 4:

That is incredible. Let's go. Thank you.

02:28:40 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's, I mean, somebody's going to have to pull me off the ceiling. It has been, ever since I found out in January, I have just been on cloud nine. You don't really expect, you don't expect this kind of accolade. You just want to go in there and do your best work. But I'm glad they noticed it was my best work. Are you still boxing? No, I am tired. I'm a retired girl. Okay.

02:29:04 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 4:

You know what, I miss Mojo working out with you because I think he worked out with you on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If I'm not mistaken. And on Tuesdays and Fridays, he would come in like this.

02:29:14 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

Like a zombie. And I would know that he had worked out with Mary Jo the day before. Hey, Tom. Hey, this is Mary Jo. She talked. Hey, Tom. We're going to go for a long walk today. I'm paying you to go for a walk. We'll be walking up and down stairs. We'll be walking.

02:29:32 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 5:

With weights. Yeah. Put on these ankle. Yeah, we had fun, though.

02:29:35 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Mary Jo, for those that are like, Mary Jo, boxing. like the women's boxing is is even bigger now than it was when when you were in doing it but i remember gosh we got two huge boxers from michigan we've got layla ali right no that's probably clarissa okay clarissa yep but isn't layla from west michigan didn't she live in new buffalo for a little bit i thought she lived in new

02:30:00 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Buffalo, no?

02:30:00 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:30:01 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 3:

Muhammad Ali's daughter was, I swear to you, I saw her in New Buffalo, living there for a while. But I don't know. But, okay, so Clarissa's from here. You're from here. What's up with Michigan women boxing? Is it because of all the bad guys around here on Tinder, or what's the story?

02:30:16 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 1:

I hope not. Wow. I hope not. I wouldn't know. I'd try to stay away from them on the weekends.

02:30:22 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 3:

She's settling down now, too, I understand. Mary Jo's an engaged woman. Congratulations. She's an engaged woman. From the boxing ring to the wedding ring.

02:30:32 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no kidding. She goes, he feeds me and he's funny.

02:30:34 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he feeds me and he's fine. I'm easy, you know.

02:30:36 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever date a boxer, Kevin? Take the pressure off me.

02:30:40 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 1:

No, honestly.

02:30:41 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 2:

She'd kick your ass. I mean, it wouldn't come to that.

02:30:44 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 1:

It wouldn't. No, I'm very docile. Like I said, just feed me. I'm good.

02:30:50 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 2:

Whose ass did you beat the worst of all your fights? Who was one where you was like, man, I'll beat the hell out of her?

02:30:55 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, there were a couple girls, honestly. Okay, so, oh, I feel bad. I won't say anything, but no, you really, it's, it's, it's very hard as a woman. Cause it's, we're not really wired for that. I know my trainers. Hi, Jimmy. He had like a tough time with me. He's like, what do you have nails on for? Like what is happening? And I'm like, I'm a girl first, doggone it. So, um, but there was one girl, um, and, uh, we, you know, we said, you know, congratulations and all that stuff after. Cause it, and it's the only sport where you try to rip each other's heads off and then it's like, okay, good job. Yeah, because you know the good work. But we offered her ice when she came to, like, our dressing room, like, the locker room later. And then my sister told me at the airport, then she didn't know it was her, and she said to her husband, like, oh, my gosh, that lady's probably getting on a plane to, like, you know, run away from her abusive, like, she looks like a raccoon. And her husband was like, no, that's the girl that Mary Jo fought.

When you see how the UFC is so big right now, and you see women in the UFC, would you have ever done that?

02:32:08 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 1:

No, they can keep that. Feet, elbows, I'm like a little bit of a germaphobe. I don't want your toe in my face. No. No, I tried it one time with my kickboxing trainer, Mr. Roop, and 20 seconds, 25 seconds in, I was like, uncle. He was like, you're pathetic. I'm out of here, uncle. Get the gloves back on. Yeah, I mean, I've tried it a couple times, and it just, I'm good with just, yeah, with the punching.

02:32:36 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Mary Jo, I'm so proud of you. As a longtime friend of yours, you're like a sister to Chelsea, and I am so proud. This woman, by the way, she's one of the kindest, hardest people ever. God, I can't wait to actually get a chance to meet your future husband. He better be good to you if not. There's a lot of people in the area, including Jeff Sackwell, that will come after him. Who beats? right? We love you, Mary Jo. Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame! I love you guys. Thank you. My God.
