Mojo in the morning show Yeah, there you go.

00:10:58 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 2:

We're very excited, by the way. We are kicking off our holiday weekend with a baby. Mike and Allie had their baby.

00:11:10 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 5:

You guys, I am dying to know what they had and what they named this baby. We don't even know, by the way. We're talking about they're going to be calling in a little bit later this morning. We have truly no idea.

00:11:20 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 2:

It's a wild to know that yesterday they both were chaperoning Cecily's zoo field trip. So what a cool thing to be able to spend that time with Cecily and then know that all the walking around the zoo caused Allie to go into labor. Because she wasn't due for a couple of weeks, right?

00:11:44 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 5:

No, she was just due for a couple more. She was due June 1st. June 1st, so like a week, right?

00:11:49 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 2:

So that was next week?

00:11:51 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:11:51 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

Man. Do we have an idea? Do you guys have a guess? Because I've been feeling all along that this was going to be a boy.

00:12:00 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 5:

Really? Yeah. I'm bad at this. I always guess wrong. In my gut, I feel boy, which means it's probably a girl.

00:12:06 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. For some reason, I always thought that the way that she had looked, the way she was carrying, the way that Mike had been acting, that this was a boy. And I know they don't know. They don't know. And they didn't, or they know now, but they didn't know at the time. Should we do some guesses? And everybody has to put down their guess, and then we'll have them on with us this morning and see what they say. Let's do it. I'll say boy. I'll start this off. I'm going to say boy.

00:12:34 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to say, just because it's my gut, boy. Yeah. You're going to say boy? Yeah. All right.

00:12:39 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 1:

I wanted to be a girl, but I think I'm going to go boy. I think I'm going to go boy.

00:12:46 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Megan Mick? I want it to be a girl Because if it is then I know the name And you guys don't Okay so you're saying girl

00:12:54 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 2:

I forgot about that yeah like that came through On your guys' slightly messy podcast

00:12:59 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

Right? Yeah and Specifically he hasn't told us yet because he knows I'm the only one who knows the name if it's a girl So maybe Maybe that's a sign it is a girl And that's why he didn't tell us

00:13:10 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 2:

And he doesn't have a boy name which is the thing too Right? And that's going to be interesting if they came up with one, finally. Amanda?

00:13:19 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo.

00:13:21 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, everybody.

00:13:22 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. You want to guess?

00:13:25 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to guess that they had a girl. Congratulations, Mike and Allie.

00:13:28 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so girl for you, Amanda. And then Megan wins with the baby name thing, you know. That kind of would bother me, but we'll go with it. What about you, Dano? Oh, I got the wrong line here. Dan-O, what's up?

00:13:46 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 3:

Can you hear me? Yeah, I got you there. What up, Joe?

00:13:48 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

What's up? What's going on?

00:13:50 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm going with a boy. I'm going with a boy. I love it. Mike could knock the nuts off anymore.

00:13:57 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 2:

You know, what do you think for a name? What will they come up with? Because remember, they didn't have a name picked out, and he was going through everything to find a name.

00:14:07 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm not sure, but I could go with Dan. That's a good name.

00:14:11 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 2:

That's a good name. All right, Dan. So, Mike and Allie, if you're listening, and if you are holding a boy right now, Dano wants you to name the baby after him. What's up, Nick? How you doing? Good. How are you, Mojo? We're doing good, man. We're excited about the holiday weekend. We're even more excited about the fact that Mike and Allie are going to be celebrating this holiday weekend with a brand new addition to the house.

00:14:33 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, congrats to them. I got one coming on the way.

00:14:35 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, congrats to you. Do you guys know what you're having?

00:14:38 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 3:

We're having a girl.

00:14:40 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

And do you have a name picked out, or if you say the name, will your wife, like, kill us?

00:14:45 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 3:

No, we already told people. It's Myla. Oh, that's beautiful. Oh, that's beautiful.

00:14:50 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

And what do you think? So if you're having a girl, and you already know it's a girl, are you thinking that girls are in the air and we're going to get another girl?

00:14:58 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm thinking there's a girl in her.

00:15:00 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 2:

in the air girl power you know what there is i'm telling you uh you've heard of the big d energy well there's the big g energy going on right now what's up uh billy hey mojo how y'all doing good what's going on hey it's summer oh my gosh i know and you know what's wild is that did you see the weather forecast for next week is temperatures are going to be like really hot gonna be in the 90s. You know, I kind of like it. I'm excited about that. Especially the last few, well, the last couple of mornings waking up has been so cold. But what are you thinking, Billy?

00:15:36 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 3:

What are we guessing? My gut is telling me it's going to, that it's a girl and Emily.

00:15:43 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Oh, okay. You got a name too. You know what? That's wild. Megan, any confirmation

00:15:49 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 4:

on that? It's not Emily if it's a girl. Oh, really? You're even just like throwing that right off the table. Sure. I'll take one name out of the millions of names off the table.

00:15:58 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 2:

It's not Emily. Is it a name that is one of the not so common names?

00:16:06 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't say it's uncommon, but I wouldn't say it's common. It's just, it's not like a weird, unusual name, but it's not one that you hear often. Right.

00:16:19 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 5:

It's not an Ava or Olivia or Emma

00:16:22 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 4:

type name. Right.

00:16:22 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Is it a classic name that's coming back from the past?

00:16:28 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so. I'm intrigued.

00:16:32 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 2:

We're going to find out exactly what the story is to this this morning before 8 o'clock.

00:16:38 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 4:

It's Ruth. That's my grandmother's name. Is it? Yeah.

00:16:43 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 2:

I want to find out how everybody's days were yesterday because everybody had some stuff to go do. So we'll get into that coming up this morning on the show. So I want to talk to you guys a little bit about what we've got going on for next week as far as Taylor Swift is concerned. We've got some big concerts that are coming, but Taylor's the next big one. And that's June 9th for the first show and then the 10th for the second show. That means that Monday is when we start the big concert giveaways. We've been doing Taylor's tickets all the time, but we have like five different contests to give away tickets. So I want to unveil that. And then I just want to, you know, all just hang out and have fun. I was surprised by how much traffic there was this morning on my way in. I actually thought everybody was taking a long weekend.

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 5:

It's because everybody's leaving town right now.

00:17:28 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is? I think that's it. So they're not going to work or anything like that?

00:17:31 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't think so. My sister was leaving last night. Really? With her babies, hoping that they were going up north for the weekend. And I feel like a lot of people are trying to beat traffic. And so they're leaving early and the kids are skipping school.

00:17:43 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 2:

If you're going somewhere and you're traveling, call us up and check in with us. and tell us where you're going so that we can, you know, keep you at least a little active while you're driving on the iHeartRadio app.

00:17:54 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:18:00 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 2:

This was the year that Dakota Johnson awkwardly called out Ellen for not attending her birthday party.

00:18:07 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 7:

It's good to see you. Happy belated birthday. When was your birthday? It was October 4th. October 4th. You turned 30. I did. And, um, how was the party?

00:18:18 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't invited. Actually, no, that's not the truth, Ellen. You were invited. Last year, no, last time I was on the show, last year, you gave me a bunch of s*** about not inviting you, but I didn't even know you wanted to be invited. Well, who doesn't want to be invited to a party? Well, I didn't even know you liked me.

00:18:36 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Miley Cyrus dated Cody Simpson in this year.

00:18:39 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 1:

So, we just, you know, we were friends. We just have remained friends for the last four or five years and then both found each other in a place. We were both in this really healthy spot mentally. And Panini was the big song. What year was this?

00:18:59 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 2:

We'll set you up with the prize. Good luck.

00:19:04 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 3:

You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year the stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. It's Mojo in the morning. It's back in the day. Tell us when this stuff happened.

00:19:16 - 00:19:29 | Speaker 2:

This was actually one of the clips that became one of Ellen's demise clips. Remember when Dakota Johnson called out Ellen for saying that she wasn't invited to her birthday party, but she really was.

00:19:30 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 7:

It's good to see you. Happy belated birthday. When was your birthday? It was October 4th. October 4th. You turned 30. I did. And how was the party? I wasn't invited.

00:19:40 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 6:

actually no that's not the truth ellen you were invited last no last time i was on the show last year you gave me a bunch about not inviting you but i didn't even know you wanted to be invited well who doesn't want to be invited to a party why i didn't even know you liked me miley cyrus and

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 3:

Cody Simpson. Whatever happened to Cody Simpson? They dated him this year.

00:20:03 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 1:

So, we just, you know, we're friends. We just have remained friends for the last four or five years and then both found each other in a place. We were both in this really healthy spot mentally and just, um... Panini?

00:20:14 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 3:

Was the big song. What year was this? Sarah?

00:20:19 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Good morning. It was 2019.

00:20:22 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. How you doing?

00:20:24 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 1:

Good. I'm on my way home from work.

00:20:27 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 3:

I bet you are, man. Is that it then? Are you done for the weekend? yes i am yeah all right go home and sleep the entire weekend if you want to uh you're right by the way 2019 congratulations to you we're gonna we're gonna set you up with tickets actually you can't sleep the whole weekend because you got tickets to go see um who the heck logic and juicy jay so logic in juicy jay you're going to be going to that show uh which is yeah so what is at today's 26, 27, 28, Sunday. So congratulations.

00:21:02 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 2:

Awesome, okay.

00:21:03 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 3:

And you don't have to work on Monday, right, hopefully?

00:21:06 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 2:

I do.

00:21:07 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, do you? Oh, dang it. What do you do for a living? Let's see if it's one of those jobs that you can just, like, hang out and do nothing.

00:21:13 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's definitely not. I work at a nuclear power plant. Oh, my gosh. Okay, I did not expect that answer.

00:21:21 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say I work at a hospital or something, you know.

00:21:24 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say to be hungover, but no way. Yeah, maybe let's get her another prize. All right, hang on the phone for a second and have a great weekend.

00:21:36 - 00:21:37 | Unknown:

Thank you, you as well.

00:21:37 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to give you a chance to go to three big concerts. Your opportunity to see Taylor Swift, Drake, and Ed Sheeran, all three, the big three, the trifecta, the threesome of threesomes. Text SUMMER to 95500 for your shot. That's SUMMER, S-U-M-M-E-R. Text that to 95500 for a chance to see all three concerts for free. Good luck. Standard text and data rates do apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, Dirty on the 30, what's trending?

00:22:12 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm actually going to start off with Sports Dirty only because I heard you and Kev, the new guy, talking about this in the show. Yeah. Show meaning before we started today, so I know it's big. Derek White had 24 points, including six three-pointers, and the Boston Celtics dominated the Miami Heat 110-97 last night in Game 5 to extend the Eastern Conference Finals. So the Celtics are halfway to becoming the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Boston also survived two elimination games in the second round against the 76ers, game six. Tomorrow in Miami, where the Heat will again try to become the second number eight seed to reach the NBA Finals.

00:22:55 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

It can't happen. I don't want it to happen. The Celtics have won the last four out of five games in Miami. Things are getting interesting.

00:23:04 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. All right, well, I kind of like this. Shannon actually leading off with... Don't expect it to happen frequently. Is today kind of a light, dirty day, or is it...

00:23:13 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 4:

So light. Everybody's taking it off.

00:23:16 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 2:

We're in retrograde.

00:23:17 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Elvis star Austin Butler and Kaya Gerber are all over the internet right now because of this rumor that they are engaged. There's lots and lots of speculation that Austin may have popped the question to his model girlfriend and that it actually happened last month. Well, I am told it is not true. They are not engaged. Now, them getting engaged really isn't at all that far-fetched. They've been dating since December of 2021, so it's been a minute. He was recently spotted helping her move into a new home. And I'm hearing lots of rumors that that home is not just hers. It actually belongs to both of them. So, I don't know. Maybe an announcement coming soon. Do you think he will do his vows with the accent that he just can't seem to say? Yes, I do. What if they went to Vegas and got married by an Elvis impersonator? Oh, make me both, please. Speaking of engagements, One Tree Hill alum and country singer Gina Kramer is engaged to soccer coach Alan Russell two months after they made their red carpet debut in six and a half months after they started dating. As for how that proposal went down, Gina explained on her podcast that it happened on a walk with her kids to their new home. They were all sitting on the front porch. He got down on one knee and that was that. Sam Smith teasing a mysterious collaboration of sorts with Madonna this week before his show in England. There was this video clip that I saw on social media and it was audio of Sam and Madonna saying Sam and Madonna while corresponding text was flashing on this black screen. Well, then Sam tweeted shortly after that appeared. Manchester, we've got a surprise.

00:25:00 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 1:

for you this evening unholy won't be the last song so fans were like awesome madonna's coming out this is gonna be great they're gonna do a song together um so i don't know if both of those things were linked in any way fans obviously thought they were however sam was forced to put a stop to the gig in manchester because he was suffering from some vocal issues he did issue an apology to fans for canceling the gig four songs and he made it four songs he just said I can't sing anymore and then two more of his shows or their shows will not go ahead as planned. And lastly, at every stop on Taylor Swift's tour, the host cities have been welcoming her by doing things like temporarily renaming towns after her or making her an honorary mayor. New Jersey is giving her a state sandwich. This is Governor Phil Murphy.

00:25:59 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 4:

In New Jersey, we have a reputation for a great Taylor ham and pork roll. Usually, we let you call it what you want, but since we have a superstar coming to town, we know all too well that we should commemorate the occasion. Someone please tell me what the hell he just said. We've been waiting for you, and it would have been a cruel summer. Oh, my God.

00:26:23 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that someone wrote that for him?

00:26:26 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 2:

I think so, yeah. I don't think that that came from him. Shut up!

00:26:32 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page at MudgeInTheMorning.com.

00:26:35 - 00:26:38 | Speaker 2:

What do you think that we're going to do here? I don't know. Will we get creative?

00:26:39 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 1:

I think, do you think Mike Duggan will do something? I hope so. Or Governor Wimmer, yeah.

00:26:43 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 2:

They got to figure something out. What if they renamed the Mackinac Bridge or something after her, you know?

00:26:49 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:26:51 - 00:27:00 | Speaker 2:

Or, you know, Michigan's known, you know, as the Mitten. Maybe they'd do something. Yeah. I don't know. You've got to get creative.

00:27:01 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 1:

We should call Whitmer and get the scoop.

00:27:03 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 2:

All right. You know what?

00:27:04 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 1:

That's what it's going to be. That's a good idea.

00:27:05 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to call her people right now.

00:27:07 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:27:16 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. It bit you, didn't it? You overslept?

00:27:24 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 1:

This is the craziest. You say it bit me, and I don't know how this happened.

00:27:29 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 2:

You know what it is? It's putting it out in the air that, well, it was KP last that overslept, and then, yeah.

00:27:35 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 1:

So I've been on the show in August. It'll be 14 years. I've overslept one time. That's me knocking on wood, okay? This morning, the weirdest thing happened. So I woke up by myself at 4.06. That is late for me. I wake up at 3.45. That's what my alarm is normally set for. And so I woke up and I looked at my clock because I have, I set my alarm on my phone. I set bedtime on my iPhone, which I don't know if you guys have that programmed into your phone. So at 830 in the evening, I get this little like lullaby that plays for a second. It's like basically telling me it's time to get ready for bed. And then my alarm automatically sets during the weekdays to 345 a.m. So I don't have to go and set it every night. It's just automatically set. And last night, I plugged my phone in on the nightstand next to my bed. It was almost fully charged, but just out of habit, I plug it in. So I knew that, you know, it had a full battery. Anyway, this morning, I look at my clock that's on my noisemaker, because I'm 10, and I sleep with a noisemaker still. And the thunderstorms, by the way, really gets me. I love that. But 4.06, I'm like, what in the heck? My alarm never went off. And so I said to Wes, he stayed over last night. I'm like, Wes, my alarm never went off. It's 4.06, which you're probably thinking to yourself, okay, that's like 21 minutes. 21 minutes is a lot of time for me in the morning.

00:29:04 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing, though, that you've got.

00:29:05 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

That eats into my time to get ready. And thank you, Jesus, I woke up by myself. Yeah. But I, so then I went to look at my phone, like how in the hell did my alarm not go off? My phone was completely dead and would not turn on. you know like you sit and push the button for it to turn on would not turn on would not turn on so i'm like all right let me jump in the shower and then i'll figure this out got out of the shower it still wasn't turning on so i woke west back up because he's a tech guy like he works in software and i'm like can you please figure out what the heck's wrong with my phone because after the show today i'm going out of town i don't have time to go to the apple store to get a brand new phone today yeah and he he ended up having to go on his phone on the internet i don't know how this happened because when I plugged in my phone last night like I said it was on it was fine it was working it was charged but I somehow locked the phone or it got locked and so he had to do this

00:30:00 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 3:

weird whatever to do a hard reset of my phone to get it to turn even just to turn on this morning

00:30:05 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 1:

by the way up there there's that that's the alarm strangest thing is that your alarm sound no so what do you what do you use for your alarm sound well now it's saying no alarm because i don't

00:30:17 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 3:

i'm not waking up tomorrow but i don't know what my alarm sound is it's just like this very nice little it's like very nice lullaby music wait you can wake up tonight i can wake up to someone

00:30:27 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 1:

breathing on me absolutely not how what what do you wake up to me yeah um let me see i'll try to play it my microphone i do this one oh my god that that would to me just say i'm not answering

00:30:39 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 4:

my phone that's my phone remember i have like seven alarm clocks when my phone one goes off it's going off with a regular alarm because that's not going to wake me up and that's the one that's like bitch get out of bed like you are out of time see like shannon shannon waking up to

00:30:55 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 1:

This is mine. Oh, no.

00:30:57 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 3:

That would put me to sleep.

00:30:59 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 1:

I go to whatever's the third rim. I think that's what it is. That's what I would do.

00:31:02 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 3:

And I wake right up. How do you, how does that wake you up? I don't like to be jarred from my sleep. It's so beautiful.

00:31:10 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that's like what would play. Remember that woman that used to do yoga at 5 o'clock in the morning on PBS? That's what would play in the background. And I would watch that to fall back asleep in the morning.

00:31:21 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 1:

To me, I have to have that alert noise. That alarm noise that goes off I think I just played that just a second ago

00:31:28 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 3:

See I don't like that because I have bad anxiety anyway This is not a joke If I woke up to that My anxiety would instantly kick in

00:31:37 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 1:

No it's fantastic I like it Oh that's yours By the way all these noises are going off And for some reason every time the noise goes off I'm like I got a text Hold on a second I just sent an email All these things are the different noises that I have for different things and the worst is if you're ever out in public and somebody's phone goes off with whatever the noise is it automatically puts you in whatever the state is of whether you should answer your phone look at a text or wake up for your your work yeah um i don't know i think that you have to have like a you have to have a jarring type of a noise to wake you up because if you don't have a jarring type of noise guess what happens you wake up after four o'clock when you're supposed My alarm didn't even go off.

00:32:21 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 3:

You guys, what in the hell happened to my phone?

00:32:23 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 1:

So I did have that happen to me too. And I'm going to, do you have your phone on automatic download for the new updates and things like that?

00:32:30 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't.

00:32:31 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So sometimes, sometimes when I automatically download, it will automatically download and it will shut my phone off and sometimes not come back on.

00:32:37 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't because I'm fearful for that reason.

00:32:39 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 1:

The other, the other thing that I could say it was is, I don't know if you have a mat that you put your phone on or you plug your phone in for charge.

00:32:47 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 3:

I plug my phone in.

00:32:48 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 1:

Look at your charger, because honestly, sometimes on the bottom of the thing, you've got to blow into the thing, or you have to get a brand new adapter to it, because it's not charging.

00:32:57 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, my phone was almost fully charged when I went to bed last night.

00:32:58 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Okay.

00:32:59 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 3:

So that's where I'm like, I don't know what happened.

00:33:02 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Victoria? How you doing?

00:33:04 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 2:

Hey, doing well. How are you guys?

00:33:06 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:33:07 - 00:33:15 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. So I wake up to you guys every morning at 6.30. I listen to you guys' pre-show. You guys are my alarm clock. Thank you.

00:33:15 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you that I think that's a wonderful thing that you do, but don't count on us because there are times when our station has dead air. You know, you got to be careful.

00:33:25 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:33:25 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

If you sue us, by the way, we'll be. So do you have the you do it through the iHeart app and have the alarm go off through that?

00:33:33 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 2:

Don't make fun of me. No, I'm old school. I have my alarm clock set.

00:33:35 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 1:

So you actually have an alarm clock. It's funny. I want an old fashioned alarm clock again. One that actually will play like the radio blast in really loud. But you can't find them anywhere.

00:33:46 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I've just figured out how I'm going to wake up. That's how I do it, is I set my alarm.

00:33:50 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 2:

I was crazy this morning with that mojo song, the Friday mojo song.

00:33:54 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 1:

That woke you up? That was your way to wake up?

00:33:56 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 2:

It woke up my daughter, actually. Every Friday, it's the Friday dance.

00:34:01 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, tell her happy Friday and sorry that she had to wake up to go to school today.

00:34:08 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 2:

She loves it. Don't worry.

00:34:09 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call, Victoria. I appreciate you so much. What were you saying, Maggie?

00:34:13 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 4:

You know how, like, everything doesn't wake you up? The panic of hearing our own commercials. Because it would be my own voice and be like, oh, shut up, get up.

00:34:24 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 1:

Hi, this is Megan with Steve Gabara.

00:34:26 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I hate her.

00:34:28 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 1:

Leanne, what's up?

00:34:30 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 2:

Hey, my husband had his phone plugged into the speaker system. We were listening to music for bed. And his alarm went off, and it was like the Star Wars thing where it's like, what? And it was so loud. I started crying. It scared me so bad.

00:34:44 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 1:

You start freaking out like, what the hell are you doing there?

00:34:48 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 2:

Like the house is on fire or something. I was like, what is happening?

00:34:52 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Have a great weekend.

00:34:55 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 2:

You too. Thank you.

00:34:56 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't surprise me, though, that you wake up with like the...

00:35:00 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 2:

niceness of things. What are you accusing me of? It's just so like, you're like, oh, I've got to get up.

00:35:08 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 3:

Do I talk with a British accent now?

00:35:10 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 1:

Let me, hold on a second. I'm going to wake my eyelids. One, two.

00:35:16 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 3:

Today is going to be a beautiful day. I do start my day with some positive affirmations, you dicks. Oh, this is going to be wonderful. All I can think about is Snow White right now. There are birds flying around you. What's up, Caitlin? I did not wait to have some time away from you guys this weekend.

00:35:33 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 2:

How are you doing, Caitlin?

00:35:35 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you guys?

00:35:36 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's happening?

00:35:38 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 4:

So I had this happen to Shannon, like, recently, actually. And it was, I had to, like, press the down button on the volume on the side. Yep. And then the up, and then the down, and then the other side. It was so weird. And I pulled it for 10 seconds. Luckily, mine was on a weekend. But ever since then, I set my, like, Apple Watch alarm, too, just in case.

00:35:57 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 2:

Great. idea yeah that's good to have a backup i've got five alarms i've got four of them on my phone and then i have another thing that's just like an alarm that i it doesn't do anything other than make an alarm that one's off in the corner of my bedroom very close to chelsea's ear if that thing goes off i'm getting up yeah and you're getting hit i'm getting hit exactly

00:36:18 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 1:

And now I present the most annoying sound in the world. Told you. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning, 5 at 6.55.

00:36:33 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 4:

5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, go, no.

00:36:38 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 2:

00:36:51 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Katie. Good morning.

00:36:54 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 2:

Morning to you guys. We're going to lock you up in a soundproof area and get right to the contest here, Carrie. And Katie, five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ties always go to the champion. You actually, Katie, work not that far from us. I understand you work at a physical therapist down the street from the studios here. What's the name of it?

00:37:15 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm at the hospital. It's Corwell Health now. It used to be Beaumont and Birmingham Health.

00:37:19 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Okay. Very nice. I keep screwing that up for some reason still, but you know what? It will come.

00:37:25 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 4:

It's hard for everybody.

00:37:26 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 2:

It will eventually get to you. We'll get it. Yeah. All right. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one. Britney Spears' mom flew to L.A. to see her daughter for the first time in six years this week. What's her mom's name?

No, sorry. I don't know what...

00:38:47 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 2:

She's good. Oh.

00:38:49 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 3:

I was like, oh, my God. That scared you, but your alarm that is the kiss of death doesn't scare you.

00:38:55 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was like the female Ludacris just got into the studio.

00:38:59 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Katie got a perfect score. Hey!

00:39:03 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 2:

You gotta be good, Carrie, okay? Okay. Question number one. Britney Spears' mom flew to L.A. to see her daughter for the first time in six years this week. What's her mom's name?

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Was that a guess?

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

or was it something you knew?

00:40:02 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 1:

I had to think about it because I know you have to win like the best of seven so you have to win four or something, yeah.

00:40:06 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 3:

Very good, you knew it. Question number four. Scott Disick turns the big 4-0 today. Which Kardashian-Jenner sister does he share three children with? Kourtney. Yes. Four to four. 00:40:48 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 4:

Cindy Crawford. There she goes. You're still the champ, guys. Final score, five to five. What a game.

00:40:53 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 3:

How did you feel? Were you freaking out, Carrie?

00:40:56 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 1:

I was a little worried, but I actually just was, like, researching, and I looked up that Cindy Crawford thing. So when he said tie it, like, off of all, I was like, I bet I'm going to know.

00:41:03 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 3:

You knew it right away, yeah. And what was the hardest question for you? Which question were you most worried that you weren't going to get?

00:41:09 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 1:

The basketball one because I'm not a sport girl.

00:41:12 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 3:

00:41:29 - 00:41:31 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning. 5 at 6.55.

00:41:33 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning. Yesterday, a topic on the show that Megan brought up was how she accidentally was sending herself an alert through our Microsoft office that we have, and it was an alert about her period and about her doctor's appointment, her gynecologist appointment. and um you uh you sent that to a guy in chicago who is a program director there because you were just typing in your last name mick and so this guy mick who's a program director ended up getting it his first name his first name well fred from the uh show in chicago that uh is like our show here like kiss fm uh they're they actually they're syndicated man they're bigger than us and they're on multiple stations but um the fred show wrote uh his accidental email but it was to kp and it was uh it was his accidentally sending it and he actually sent it to me to read here it says kp i've received all your emails all your texts all your dms but unfortunately i can't date you i'm a professional and i would like to keep our relationship compliant with the code of conduct from iHeart. Haven't you watched the videos? If you continue to pursue me, I will have no choice but to alert corporate leadership. I promise I won't tell Mojo. Fred. By the way, he is so butthurt over the fact that on one of our Mojo in the Morning podcasts, she made him look like he was fishing for, you know, I don't know, a date or something by liking her posts. And do you remember that at all? I do. When that came out? And he was very, very upset about that. He was very upset about the fact that...

00:43:25 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 4:

But am I getting the story wrong? Am I recalling it wrong? Or didn't he like a bunch of posts at one time?

00:43:32 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. I'm getting stories mixed up. Yeah, no, I think...

00:43:35 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 4:

Because that is always a sign that somebody's trying to get your attention.

00:43:37 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 3:

No, I think it was. And he, to, in all transparency, he's the one that told me about KP. Did you know that? That Fred's the guy. Fred is the guy. I did not know of KP before we hired her. And she's off today. I feel bad. I would love her to be able to respond to this. But she's taken a long weekend because she went up north to a friend's lake house, a family friend's lake house. Well, it was Fred that said, hey, did you see this girl in Michigan? You should look at her. She could be good for your show and stuff like that. And so he was the one that told me about her because he had checked her out on TikTok or saw her TikToks and stuff like that. I think it's pretty clear what's going on here. What do you think, Kevin? Give me Kevin's, you know, thoughts on this one as a guy, from a guy's perspective on this one, because I'm not a guy. I don't know if you know that.

00:44:37 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Fred's feeling KP. I think it's pretty clear. He's liked pictures. He knows he probably can't get with her, but he's still dreaming.

00:44:44 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

But he's still, so he's using this as an opportunity?

00:44:47 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 2:

He just wants to stay relevant in the cave peace sphere.

00:44:50 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Oh, I think he's saying relevance and no. No, because I was going to say. But no, so he's trying to keep it top of mind. All right. I'm not mad. Yeah.

00:45:00 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 5:

Let's see what we got here. Hold on a second. I don't know if he'll answer us. What time is he in Chicago right now? He does do a morning show.

00:45:06 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 1:

Is it 6.16 or 7.16 there? I don't know. Are they an hour behind right now? 6.16.

00:45:12 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 5:

It is 6.16?

00:45:13 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 1:

Yep. So he's like just going on the air.

00:45:17 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 5:

All right. Hold on a second here. Yeah. He's probably on the air. He'll call me probably right when I start a break. That's what ends up happening. He'll end up calling me about that. That'd be interesting, though. We would have an intertwined showmance. He is a single guy. And I don't know. I mean, I don't know. I know Megan likes to date older guys. You know, Fred's 40 years old or something like that. Do you think that KP? I don't think so, right?

00:45:47 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm not interested in Fred's age. I'm interested in his bank account.

00:45:54 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't have the country piece that she is. No. That is like a must for her. It's a non-negotiable, and he is not country.

00:46:02 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 3:

But you know what he does have? An apartment in the city, which is what I want. And why is it always about what KP wants? So why don't you shoot your shot?

00:46:11 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 5:

She wants it for non-Airbnb, and she doesn't have the Airbnb. She can just stay with Fred.

00:46:16 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. You want to know why? Huh? Because I know Fred. Gotcha.

00:46:24 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 5:

Then as a friend of KP's, you should tell, you know.

00:46:27 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 4:

No, she should do it. because, like, oh, the retirement fund that she would have, baby. You can buy yourself your own ranch out in the middle of nowhere and you can just leave him in the dust.

00:46:38 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 5:

Well, maybe we can put that together. That will be one of the things we'll put on our list today. We'll have to piece something together and see if we can set them up on their date. Megan will go. They'll double date. KP and Fred from The Fred Show and Megan with Mick Joseph from Light FM in Chicago.

00:46:55 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, Fred. I do love you. We would never work.

00:46:57 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 5:

we would murder each other they would they would be able to communicate in the hallways and go hey fred what's going on with kp oh i don't know uh oh what's going on with megan uh her period's next week i just saw it on the calendar um all right it's mojo in the morning show so we are going out of town this weekend my niece madeline is getting married my sister tracy and my brother in law scott's uh oldest daughter we're so proud this is actually the first of any of my siblings and mine are kids getting married so that scares me because then that means that puts it on the table for joe jacob and luke you know that there is a possibility those guys i still think like they're too way too young to get married but madeline and joe are like the same age well we're leaving town and we needed to send the dogs off to marissa who is our friend that will watch henry and louie our two dogs so yesterday i was dropping them off so that we can leave the show go right to the airport, get on an airplane, and go down to Florida where they're getting married. I get a phone call from my friend Paul, and he and his wife were very upset when they found out that we weren't letting them watch Henry and Louis. They always have wanted to watch them because when they come over to our house, they always feel like the dogs love them. And the dogs, honestly, they love anybody that will pet them, right? But they do love these guys. I cannot let them watch them. And here's the reason why About a year ago They were watching a dog For a friend of Paul's That was at work or whatever And they were watching a dog While this friend and his family Were going on a cruise And the dog died While they were pet sitting How? The dog got sick And you know how it is Have you ever had a dog? Yeah So if you have a dog It just comes on sometimes Sometimes you can sense That they're not feeling well Sometimes all of a sudden out of the blue and the next thing you go to the vet and they tell you the dog's, you know, got like a day or two to live where you have to put the dog, you know, down. This dog was not doing well and it happened really, really fast and it was nothing that anybody could do other than it was some genetic thing. Well, long story short, Paul and his wife Beth did not call those guys. They let them finish their entire vacation and then waited until they got home to tell them that the dog died. And I think that was freaking horrible. I don't know about you. Yes, I think that that's like a bad idea. And I don't know why they wouldn't pick up the phone. I mean, even though they're on a cruise,

00:49:38 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 2:

send them a text and say, hey, when you get a chance.

00:49:42 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 5:

I completely disagree. Or tell them, hey, the dog's not doing well. We're at the vet at the very least.

00:49:49 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what should we do? I like that.

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

But if I'm on a vacation, I'm there to enjoy myself. I'm with my family. The last thing I want to know is that an extension of my family.

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 3:

is dead and there's literally nothing i can do i'm on a cruise in the middle of the ocean you

00:50:05 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 1:

can do you have to figure out like where the dog goes the trip is ruined the dog i don't know life still life still's happening while you're on vacation unfortunately here's the thing for us

00:50:17 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 3:

our dogs obviously don't mean as much to me as they mean to chelsea and the boys but it's like their family to them they're an expense to me and i i to me i'd be fine with it but my wife and my

00:50:28 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 2:

kids would be so upset so here's the thing i feel like i don't take vacations that often and i love my animals but it's not like my like a family member where you have to get to a funeral you keep that bad boy in the cooler you let them enjoy the five thousand dollars that they spent to get out there you can't do anything anyway you're just gonna ruin their time and then you deal with it when they get back why is it that that doesn't surprise me that that would be

00:50:57 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 3:

your reasoning behind why you would not want to be called.

00:51:02 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 2:

Listen, if you're going on a cruise, the probability of you having any internet or service is very, very low. So if on day two, you told me that my dog died and I can't get home and there's nothing I can do and I just spent $5,000 to be sad on a boat, no thank you, we're no longer friends. A real friend would hide my dog's death for me.

00:51:26 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Andrew, what do you think? Should they have told their friends when they were pet-sitting and the dog died?

00:51:34 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey, y'all. Good morning. First time in a long time.

00:51:36 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, buddy. Appreciate that.

00:51:39 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 4:

Like I say, I would definitely not tell. We actually were in, my girlfriend, years ago, we were watching her roommate's dog. And it would always chase a stupid little ball. And I threw it. It took the perfect hop off the porch. It goes right down the street. It's a busy road. And then it took a Buick Century roll that smashes his dog and rolls about 10 feet.

00:51:59 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:52:00 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 4:

Like rolling over and over and over.

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

00:52:04 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm thinking it's dead, but it totally survived. It took out a Buick Century and lived, but it was all messed up.

00:52:11 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 3:

So did you call them and tell them what happened?

00:52:15 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 4:

Heck no. They were at a Tigers game. We didn't want to ruin it.

00:52:20 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, the Tigers game is different. They're going to be home in a few hours. Wow. You, by the way, tell the greatest stories ever. You need to call us again. That is a great story. What's up, Daniel?

00:52:32 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think you're taking it a little too far, Mojo.

00:52:36 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 3:

How?

00:52:38 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 5:

Because, I mean, it's just not, you want to have a good time on that trip.

00:52:46 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:52:47 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 5:

And, you know, it's not like they made the dog die.

00:52:50 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, here's the thing, though. Well, you at least give them the option of wanting to know or not. I think you don't just let them go.

00:52:56 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 5:

I understand that. I understand that. And that's why I kind of agreed with the call with the vet. Yeah. And say, hey, what do you want us to do? But other than that, you know, you kind of said they're family to them, but they're an expense to me. Well, yeah.

00:53:12 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm talking my own personal on that one. Christina, what's going on? What would you have done?

00:53:18 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 7:

well i told my parents when i killed every one of their fish in their fish tank okay that that one i'd leave quiet they asked me to watch their house i walk in their house every couple days you know feed the fish feed the cat they i walk in one day and i'm like wow it smells kind of fishy in here to go over to the fish tank every fish including the sucker fish dead

00:53:44 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, but by the way, I hope that they'd never let you watch anything ever again after that.

00:53:51 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 7:

They asked me about a week later. Hey, can you come over and watch the cat?

00:53:58 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Ava, what's happening, Ava?

00:54:01 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So they should have called. That is ridiculous. I was a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital for a year. And professionally, I would have told them to call the owners. There's so much that has to do financially with cremation. Yeah, decisions. And then it's like they're on this cruise showing pictures of Fluffy to these people and Fluffy's dead.

00:54:22 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 1:

That's horrible.

00:54:23 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I agree with you. And that's coming from a professional.

00:54:26 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

I also don't want to put the brunt of all of that work and stress on the poor people who I asked to simply just watch my dog. Right. How fast does that process need to take place, though?

00:54:36 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. In this case, the dog just died. They brought the dog to the doctor, then brought the dog home, and the dog ended up dying. So it wasn't like they had to put the dog down. The dog ended up having something tragic. But Jeff, are you there?

00:54:50 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, I'm here. You know, I don't want my vacation ruined. I don't go on a lot of vacations. I love my dogs like they're my kids. But this is what I do. I set it up with my vet. My vet knows what to do. My dog sitter knows to take them to the vet, and the vet will put them down and let me know when I get back. If you take care of it ahead of time, it's like planning a funeral.

00:55:16 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so you tell them ahead of time, don't bother me. I'm on vacation. It's kind of like the out-of-office note that people put on their e-mails. Kristen, this actually has happened. What happened? And your parents' dog died while they were on vacation?

00:55:33 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 1:

No, so my parents were going to Antarctica for three weeks, and their cat died. And this was like a family cat for 23 years. And I didn't want to interrupt them on their vacation, so I actually had the vet put the cat in the freezer for three weeks until they returned.

00:55:51 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 3:

And then did you have them thaw it out ahead of time, like you'd thaw your chicken or something, your dinner that night?

00:55:58 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 1:

I did. So the day they were supposed to return, I had them take the cat out of the freezer and kind of defrost it a bit.

00:56:05 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 2:

I want the conversation to end so badly. Please.

00:56:09 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. That was very interesting. I don't even like cats. Let it fall.

00:56:14 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 4:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 3:

What in the world? Let it fall out. Right next to the popsicle.

00:56:23 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 4:

I can't do it.

00:56:25 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 3:

it's good to have you guys here with us today mojo and megan and shannon mike will be checking in with us he had his baby we will check in with him in just a little bit uh kev the new guy is here kp took the morning off so she's not here lydia is here holding down the fort uh for uh the phones and, of course, for KP. And what do we got in this hour's 30?

00:56:55 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, Raquel Levis and her family really, really scared after a slew of death threats stemming from her affair with her fellow Vanderpump Rules star, Tom Sandoval. In fact, her family contacted the FBI yesterday for some help. The threats have been both online and over the phone, and it's gotten really bad. I never understood why people are... Why are you sending death threats to a reality TV star that you don't know? Why are you sending death threats anyway? But one of them said, somebody said they wanted to tear her from limb to limb and then dump her body. Now, a source close to Raquel said, okay, we get it. It's understandable why people hate her for the scandal. But to elevate that hate to the point of threatening Raquel and her family is taking things too far. And it's really disturbing. And we've been talking about this for a few weeks now. Raquel has been getting some mental health treatment in the wake of the cheating scandal. She hasn't been seen out in public in weeks. So Nike might not be distancing itself from Ja Moran after all. They just released his latest signature sneaker. This was yesterday. Guys, it sold out in minutes. Like, minutes. The Ja One Hunger colorway drop was up in the air after Nike erased all of the Memphis Grizzly Star shoes off of its site last week, which led to speculation about whether the brand was potentially just going to suspend the sale altogether. They weren't going to do it or maybe even suspend their relationship with John Morant altogether due to his off court issues with not anymore things, including guns. Yeah. But sneaker heads were very happy to see the kick still dropped on Nike sneakers app for one hundred and ten bucks. But yeah, they're totally gone.

00:58:34 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, and it's interesting because a lot of people are going to now call out Nike for saying that they should have suspended the sales of this until they figure out what's going on with John Morant. that he's obviously somebody that's got some issues going on in his life and maybe he needs to work it out. Now he goes and sees his sneakers sell in two minutes, which, by the way, my dad called them sneakers. Is it okay to call them sneakers like that?

00:58:57 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, they're sold on the sneakers app.

00:58:59 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

The sneakers app? Yeah. It's interesting. My dad was actually cool before his time. It was way before his time. But the interesting thing is now he thinks, I think this empowers him a little bit, don't you? He sees the sales skyrocket like that And people love him and they love these shoes I don't know

00:59:18 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

The suspect arrested late last year For killing Migos rapper Takeoff Was indicted on a murder charge By a grand jury in Texas yesterday Last November if you remember Takeoff was standing outside of a bowling alley He was attending a private party With fellow Migos member In downtown Houston When the suspect in this case His name is Patrick Xavier Clark allegedly shot him and police say there was an altercation in front of the building where this bowling alley was takeoff was not involved in this fight but he got caught in the crossfire tragically so police arrested the suspect last december a month after the shooting at the time of the arrest

01:00:00 - 01:01:11 | Speaker 4:

He had a large amount of cash, a passport, and a gun on him. Court docs show that this guy had applied for an expedited passport with a plan to go to Mexico shortly after the shooting occurred. But police took him into custody before he could flee. And check out the video. It's going up right now on the Dirty page at MojointheMorning.com if you want a good laugh. Alec Baldwin's wife, Hilaria, she is a yoga instructor, okay? She is just getting roasted after she shared a workout video With the moves that people are comparing to a horny teenager Oh my gosh I don't even know how to do this move She's like up on her knees And she has her hand on her hips And she's like pushing her pelvis like back and forth And back and forth And back and forth It looks like humping I don't know how else to describe it She's saying she's performing pelvic exercises, which seems very legit to me. But now comedians and people online are just recreating it. It's great. It's a great laugh to start your weekend. You can see that and all of today's Dirty on the Dirty Face.

01:01:11 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 1:

Is that a normal? I don't work out, so that's not normal.

01:01:14 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I used to do bar and Pilates classes, and that is a move in the class, or at least a move similar to one that we used to do all the time. It's just, you do it in a class with other people who are all doing the same thing so you all feel like idiots. This is just like, sad.

01:01:30 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

Did you see the woman that, we got to post this, the woman that's made. That did the side-by-side. Imitating her. Yeah, doing the side-by-side with her.

01:01:38 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it's so good. Oh my God. Mommy, what are these people doing? Check out the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

01:01:47 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 1:

Go. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It's Mojo in the Morning. So what Megan did yesterday had a car full of girls freaking out, like probably petrified, right?

01:02:06 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I felt so incredibly bad, but I swear to God, you guys, I was just trying to have a good Samaritan moment with these girls. So I was getting off of, okay, so you guys should know that I used to be the traffic reporter here. I have no idea what anyone was doing. I was getting off one of the expressways onto the Greenbelt Parkway in downtown. I think that's 75, but I could be wrong. How did you do it?

01:02:33 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 1:

Did you just read scripts when you were doing the traffic?

01:02:35 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so you do the same thing Shannon does. You just read it, and then I mispronounce names, the street of the city I grew up in for the last.

01:02:42 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, and when she does traffic in Detroit. I do not read it. She is live in a helicopter.

01:02:47 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah, that's right, that's right, that's right. But I definitely didn't misread street names all the time of the city I grew up in when I started here. But anyway, I was getting off the expressway. I noticed the woman in front of me, well, the car in front of me, I didn't know it was a girl at the time, had a really, really low, like, back tire. And it looked like it was about to go flat, and I was a little bit worried. I saw there was a lot of people in the car. and i thought you know what good samaritan moment i'm gonna catch up with her i'm gonna get her attention i'm gonna let her know because you know what we do we help other people out that's what we're supposed to do so i pull up next to her on greenbelt parkway i know i know and i'm like not flying to catch up with her because the speed limit there is already like 50 but i'm going a little bit faster than her just trying to catch up with her at the light because i know nobody hits that light and um unfortunately there were like too many cars in my lane i couldn't okay so i'm like all right we're going the same direction i'll catch her at the next light and i can tell that she feels my presence and is a little freaked out by me so i switch lanes because i saw the next light we were going to be next to each other and she switched lanes to get in front of me and so i switched to the other lane and she's and then i'm like oh no i'm being a crazy person and i'm just trying to help and i go i back off and i go she's definitely freaked out by me her passengers I keep turning around and looking at my car and I go, this is not worth it. This is not worth it. She's weirded out. I freaked her out. Didn't mean for that to happen. Two minutes later, we're going down the trail. We end up at a red light together. I have to tell her. She already thinks I'm a psychopath. I might as well help her out. So I get to lay next to her and her window's down maybe like two inches. I think she was smoking. So it was like two inches so that she could ask her a cigarette. I went, hey! sorry you're about to get a flat tire i just wanted you to know and she rolls down her window and goes i didn't know why you were following me you were so scary but thank you and i'm like i know i'm so sorry i felt so bad but i was like i i felt like a total creeper but i wanted to be Helpful. You are kind of.

01:05:00 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of scary, to be honest with you. I mean, there are times where I've just seen you pull in the parking lot here, and there are times where I'm ducking for cover because I'm wondering what's going on.

01:05:09 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm a very scared driver.

01:05:11 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 1:

You're the only person I know that drives in a car and flails your arms, and not one hand is touching a steering wheel at the times that you're doing this because you've got both of them up in the air.

01:05:21 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is coming from you, the literal worst driver on the planet.

01:05:25 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm being told all the time that I'm the worst driver on the planet, but who has more issues in traffic than you?

01:05:31 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so let's talk about what happened literally a couple of weeks ago when I was following you and you turned left at a light that was right turn only.

01:05:39 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, what? It got us there faster.

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 2:

And I'm the better.

01:05:46 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 1:

By the way, one of the things that I always hate is I always hate when people have to follow me to get somewhere because they're always either too slow drivers or they let people get in between us. And then I got to sit there and be focused on, okay, I got to wait and pull over to the side and stuff like that.

01:06:03 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Now, Kev, you just said, yeah, agreeing with him. And I got to say, you're the only person here who has never tried following this man because you'll notice nobody on the show stuck up for him because he's a liar. That's true.

01:06:16 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever had people following you and you forgot that they were following you? Oh, yeah. They're like, where did you go? I'm like, bro, I totally forgot. I'm gone. It is so bad. By the way, it also is very difficult. I just want you to know it is very difficult, in Megan's case, to follow someone. Like, that's hard to follow someone. And here you are doing it. Yeah. And Megan's doing it. And I never can understand why it is when I watch television shows or movies. The cops always do the greatest job following the people. Like, they always do a great job of just being just far enough behind.

01:06:52 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

But they can also weave in traffic and you're fine. Lights and sirens.

01:06:57 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Do you want somebody to tell you that your tire is low? Like, do you want to get that forewarning or does it freak you out? Nowadays with people and how nutty they are and not knowing, honestly, I agree with those girls. I would have been petrified if that happened. You got to be careful.

01:07:12 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes, but also tires are expensive. So I'd like to know so that I don't blow a tire. I would be more scared sitting on the side of the road not being able to change my tire or whatever the situation was versus somebody flagging me down, staying inside of their car saying, you need air in your tire.

01:07:30 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Is that area of town a decent area of town? I mean, I don't know. No. It's not? Okay, well, there you go. That's the other one, too. It's like I'm thinking somebody's going to sell something to me or what. But what's happening, Helena?

01:07:43 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Didn't Lydia get carsick with Mojo's driving?

01:07:47 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Of course Lydia puts this through. But here's the problem. She ate some stuff that didn't agree with her beforehand. Do you remember? We're driving down the luge, or I'm sorry, the lodge, and we're driving down, and I'm going so many lanes back and forth and swaying. And you know who I am? I'm like the old guy that should be driving the old big boss hog from Dukes of Hazzard Cadillac. I'm the guy, I got a car that's way too big for me, and I'm doing the one hand on the steering wheel and I'm swaying back and forth. Did I ever tell you guys a story? And this is going to prove Megan's point about me being a bad driver. But did I ever tell you guys a story about the person that followed me? Okay. All the way into the parking lot. And I was going into to the parking lot of the place that I go and I get a pedicure at and I park in a parking spot And the person pulls up behind me and asked me, are you okay? And I said, yeah, why? What's going on? And they said, we were kind of worried that you were like having a stroke while you were driving. Because they said, I didn't think that you were drunk because you looked like you were okay, like with your window down and everything. But a couple of times you looked like maybe you had a stroke. And I'm going, oh, Jesus. Maybe Megan's right.

01:09:11 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait. I'm sorry. The hesitation there was because I've never heard those words before. What was that?

01:09:16 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Stop that. Stop that.

01:09:17 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 2:

What was it, guys?

01:09:18 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 1:

You know what we're going to do? My ultimate goal is always to get a driver's ed instructor to test all of us.

01:09:23 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:09:24 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 1:

Because what we would find out is, we would find out that I wasn't as bad a driver as Shannon.

01:09:29 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true. I failed my first driver's test.

01:09:32 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 1:

She failed her first driver's test, and this is no joke. When Shannon drives away from the radio station, if you have to follow her, you're on your way down 12-mile road here to get to Orchard Lake To go to the freeway there At 696 She is oblivious To what's going on Like you're supposed to know

01:09:50 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't know where I'm I'm going that way But I'm probably supposed To be going this way I mean I am so

01:09:55 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

I follow you Just try to wave at you Like because I'm right next to you She won't even look at the people

01:10:00 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

next door because she thinks that they're going to do something. I won't. I would never know if I had a flat tire because I'm not looking at the car next to me. Guys, we got a baby. We got a baby. Yes, we do. We got a baby. Our team is growing. It's time. How amazing is this? Mike and Allie had their baby in what was a week early of what their due date was but on the same day that they got to spend the entire day with their other kids at the zoo for cecily's field trip let's go live to the hospital right now where mom and dad are mike are you there hello guys

01:10:41 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 1:

thank you thank you this is so special but by the way mike how good is this that it was

01:10:50 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 2:

sandwiched in between mother's day and father's day for you guys yeah i didn't even think of that

01:10:56 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 1:

It turned out kind of perfect. It all happened so fast yesterday. Honestly, it was very unexpected.

01:11:02 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Before you tell us the sex of the baby, because I want that to be like the big pinnacle of this conversation here. I want people to have to listen for a little bit here. I want to know what was going on. Like, give us step by step. So you went to the zoo. You did the field trip thing. Okay, right?

01:11:20 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yep, yep. So we go to the field trip. There's a lot of walking involved in that. and she had a moment of like the the Braxton Hicks which are like the early uh contractions and nothing big it was very spaced out we're walking around and everything seems fine and then we get back to the house and she goes I gotta start tracking these and I go no it's too soon for that and I was like do you need me to this is probably five six o'clock I'm like do you need me to start calling people and letting people know you know we got a bunch of appointments tomorrow We have, you know, a bunch of, you know, I got work stuff I got to take care of. You got stuff you got to take care of. Should I start, you know, putting our bags in the car? She's like, no, I don't think so. Let's go get some ice cream. So we take the kids. We go get ice cream. And we're in line at the ice cream place. And she goes, we got to go. And I go, what? She goes, these are one after another after another. And it happened so fast. And so then we get to the hospital. And we pack our bags. We race to the hospital. So we get the kids to the hospital. Now we've arrived to the hospital at 747. I think that's the time I text you guys. And it's happening, like, now. Like, this baby is coming. And so, no joke, you guys, within two hours, the epidural didn't even fully kick in. Within two hours, this baby was coming. Oh, my God. You ever see the movies where everybody sees like the pregnancy and the births in the movies And it's like this woman screaming and it's wild But you're like, there's no way that's real There's no way that's real That is what happened last night It was, yeah, it was the wildest It was so fast There was no time for the medicine to kick in And it was, it was intense They didn't want to party

01:13:14 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 2:

Wow Mike, how did you do? Did you keep calm? Because one thing that we all know about you is that you know how to be a husband. You know how to be a dad. But you don't necessarily know how to keep calm sometimes.

01:13:32 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 1:

Let me ask Allie. Allie, how do you think I did? No, I don't think there was any calm there. But I didn't see any of that. Congratulations, Allie. Oh, my gosh, Allie. This is huge. Thank you.

01:13:44 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. All right, so here's a moment of truth. Moment of truth. I don't know which one of you guys wants to tell us, but we have a baby. What do we have, and what do we call this alien child?

01:14:00 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 1:

So, Allie, we have a baby boy. Yeah, let's go!

01:14:05 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Let's go! Let's go! Oh, my gosh.

01:14:10 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 1:

We have a baby boy that was born at 9.57 last night. Wow. And his name is...

01:14:24 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 2:

Wow, Ryan Seacrest. That was amazing. Ryan Seacrest. Okay.

01:14:30 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 1:

His name is Sebastian Emmanuel Aguilar. Wow.

01:14:34 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Let's go. What a name. See, let's go. That is so awesome. Let's go. Oh, my God, that is Sebastian Emanuel Aguilar. That's unbelievable.

01:14:47 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 1:

Now, I got to ask a question. Was that the dolphin's name from your trip?

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That was the dolphin's name.

01:14:54 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

I seriously love it.

01:14:57 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Hold on a second. Dustin, you want to say? Say something to beautiful mommy and beautiful daddy.

01:15:04 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I do. I want to tell them congratulations, and that is a beautiful name. Beautiful.

01:15:09 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:15:09 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 4:

I love the story about it being the dolphin's name, too. That is hilarious. That is incredible.

01:15:16 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 2:

I actually love the fact that Cecily is the princess. She's the, you know?

01:15:22 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:15:22 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 2:

She's the boss. She and Allie, you guys, Allie, you guys deserve to be pampered by these men in your

01:15:29 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 3:

It took us a minute to come up with the first name, but we kind of knew the middle name, which was her grandfather's middle name. Her grandfather's name, excuse me, who passed away, and then Sebastian, which we loved the name in general. But the initials of it are C, S-E-A, because my dad, I don't know if you guys know this My dad's nickname was Skip And if you've ever watched If you've ever watched What's the name of that show I can't think of it Gilligan's Island Yeah Skipper was the Like one of the main characters On that show And he's my I'm the captain Of our ship Of our household ship Actually my wife is And he's our little skipper

01:16:47 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay that's so cool

01:16:48 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 2:

01:17:10 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 2:

If you run to the cafeteria to get any food, Mike, and you want to check in again, you can, or you don't have to. Enjoy, guys.

01:17:18 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:17:19 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

We love you guys so much, and we cannot wait to meet Sebastian. All right, love you, too. What a name. I love it. What a name. Rebecca? Oh, I disconnected with her. Sorry, Rebecca. Actually, I got to get to a song, and then I got to get to the throwback. So we're going to do throwback, throwdown. Actually, you know what? Forget that. I'm doing this on the fly. I just looked at the time, and I just realized, you know what? I don't need to play a Miley Cyrus song because guess what? I'm going to play some throwback music here. How excited are we about this? I know. I've been waiting all night long. Isn't it wild? It's wild. And I hate when you do baby stuff on the dirties.

01:18:01 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 5:

But it's one of our own.

01:18:02 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 2:

But I like it when it's one of our own. Exactly.

01:18:06 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 1:

I love the intentionality of the name. Oh, yeah. Everything just puts, it's amazing.

01:18:11 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome.

01:18:12 - 01:18:12 | Unknown:

Here we go.

01:18:13 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Throwback Throwdown. So it's Cav's first time playing. So this is going to be an interesting one. because we always know how interesting it is whenever we have somebody that plays for the very first time. We have Shannon, Megan, or Kev. Ashley, who do you choose?

01:18:36 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 4:

I am choosing Megan. Hi, Ashley. Hi.

01:18:40 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 2:

You got her. Next pick in the draft. Yeah, be upbeat, Megan. Come on. Yay.

01:18:47 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm just realistic, and I think we're going to learn that yet another person is capable of beating me.

01:18:55 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 2:

Phillip, your choice is Phillip. Shannon or Kev? My choice is Shannon.

01:19:02 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Phillip.

01:19:04 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 2:

I get it. The listeners are cautious this morning. Darnell, you got Kev. Yeah, baby.

01:19:12 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 1:

Let that beginner's luck roll. Come on, Darnell.

01:19:14 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That's actually a really good point. Beginner's luck.

01:19:17 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 1:

Come on, man. We got babies being born. My first day. Let's go.

01:19:20 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

You can actually give birth right now, Kev, to your first win in the Throwback Throwdown. Are you ready?

01:19:26 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 1:

Pitbull good feeling Are you laughing at me? Yeah, I love these beautiful guys

01:20:35 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 2:

That was a terrible guess.

01:20:39 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 3:

Let's see what you come up with. That's a little dead cat chat, boys, guys.

01:20:42 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, it's going to be a long contest. By the way, we don't listen to the whole song, so I just want everybody to know that. Oh, crap balls. Come on. Somebody scream out their name and say it. I'm going to do a new rule. It's going to be time limit on how much I play for you. You can't look at your phone. Oh, no, no. I was looking at a text from Mike. No. All right, my bad. Put your phone over. No phone. I wish this was finished the lyrics. I'm dumping the songs. All right, I'm dumping the songs.

01:21:27 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 1:

He cheated, and now I don't get a cheat. I didn't cheat.

01:21:30 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

I'm dumping. Then, Megan, go ahead. What's the title of an artist? I have no idea. How do you not know that song?

01:21:37 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 1:

I know the song I don't know who it is

01:21:39 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 2:

Kev, what's the title of an artist?

01:21:40 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't know that I got a feeling

01:21:42 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 2:

Flo Rida Good Feeling Is the name of the song Oh my gosh

01:21:48 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 3:

01:21:50 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 2:

Alright That was just a test run guys Yeah Ashley, Phillip, and Darnell Just a test run on that one Just so everybody kind of has an idea on this one You're supposed to be the musical experts You work at radio stations. I know, Kev, this is your first opportunity, but you were an intern for JLB. You work with the Pistons. They play music when you go out there and do stuff, you know? Be my friend right now, Mojo. I don't need that. I don't need that. All right. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback Throwdown, is... Shannon. Shannon. Lupe Fiasco, The Show Goes On. Correct answer. See, that's how you do it. Right there. She is the seasoned veteran.

01:22:45 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 3:

That's a really nice way of just calling me old. No. Yeah, I see that eating grin over there.

01:22:52 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

You are seasoned. Show goes on. All right, that's it. Kevin, are you there? Does your microphone work? Can you scream your name out? Are you sure no one else was featured on that song? Just checking? Just checking? No. Okay. Nobody on there. By the way, you calling me out? I'm going to give you the next song here. Let's see if you can get this one. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown. Shannon's on the board. Song is?

01:23:22 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 1:

If I were a boy. Megan.

01:23:25 - 01:23:26 | Speaker 2:

Megan was first.

01:23:26 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say if I were a boy.

01:23:27 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Correct answer.

01:23:28 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 1:

If I were a boy. Just wait. This will make you so competitive. Did I watch the full Renaissance tour online the first night? Three hours? Yes, I did.

01:23:48 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:23:48 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 3:

I listen to her Cause I know how it hurts When you lose the one you wanted It's taking you for granted And everything you had got destroyed

01:24:10 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 2:

All right. Score update from Lydia, please.

01:24:15 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 1:

We have Shannon and Megan on the board with a tie with one each and Kevin with nothing. Sorry, buddy.

01:24:22 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 2:

I will not hit the 0.0 for you until we go about a couple more songs left. All right? I'll be nice seeing that. I've been mean to him today. I think he's really hurt. No. Let me build you up. Kevin. Yeah. You can do this. Look at me. Look me in the eyes. Focus. Look at me. Right here, right here. I got you. You go out there, man. You take these girls. Okay. Don't let them beat you with this girl. I got you.

01:24:49 - 01:24:49 | Unknown:

I got you.

01:24:49 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 2:

Because remember, if you lose all weekend, you've got to live with it. And this is a three-day weekend. You've got another day on there. Dry my sorrows in a bottle of alcohol. All right. What do you drink, by the way? We didn't know.

01:25:02 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 3:

I got a lot. Whatever's on the bar.

01:25:05 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 2:

01:25:22 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 4:

01:25:49 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 2:

We're on the board. We're on the board.

01:25:52 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 5:

Wait, stop. Are you wearing slippers? Yeah.

01:25:54 - 01:25:54 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:25:55 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 2:

You have slippers on right now?

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 5:

Actual slippers.

01:25:57 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 3:

Friday fun day, baby.

01:25:59 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 1:

I love how comfortable he's gotten so quickly.

01:26:02 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, I love it.

01:26:02 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 2:

You're way too comfortable for day number five. This is, like, way too comfortable. Hey, here it is.

01:26:07 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 5:

They have hearts all over them. I love this job.

01:26:10 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I kind of threw you a little bit of a bone on that one. Because it is, by the way, HOVA. But also, it is Izzo. But there's some people. No, no, no, no, no, no, on the billboard charts, you know, they do it both ways, but.

01:26:27 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 1:

I want to know, would you have given me the same leniency, and will you lie?

01:26:32 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

I think I've given you much leniency over the time that you have been on this show playing the Throwback Throwdown. The next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback Throwdown, we got a three-way going on here, a good old-fashioned three-way. This one's going to break the tie. The song is. Get it. Three seconds

01:26:53 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 3:

Is Ludacris Shawna Three seconds Megan

01:27:09 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 1:

Luda, Shawna, Fantasy

01:27:21 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 3:

Shannon.

01:27:23 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 2:

Shannon.

01:27:23 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 3:

Ludacris fantasy.

01:27:25 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 2:

No. Ludacris. Shawna, what's your fantasy? Oh, my God.

01:27:49 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 2:

See, I think he's catching on, by the way. I think that that little pep talk that I gave, that locker room talk, I went in in halftime and I chewed his ass out. Right? Yeah, I was like, remember to type, oh, whoa. Wow, that was actually funny.

01:28:07 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 4:

01:31:53 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, Britney Spears breaking her silence After her mama Lynn Spears came to her home on Wednesday, a story we broke for you in the dirty on Instagram yesterday. Brittany opening up about her estranged mom's visit, saying they did a lot of talking. It was only about 30 minutes, but they did a lot of talking. And she writes, my sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after three years. It's been such a long time. She shared a little throwback photo of herself as a little girl. She writes, with family, there's always things that need to be worked out, but time heals all wounds. And after being able to communicate with what I've held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things right. I love you so much. She added, P.S., I'm so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years. Let's go shopping afterwards. And that references to she wasn't even allowed to have coffee during her conservatorship, which is just asinine to me.

01:32:47 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 2:

So that actually makes me feel good. Like, that's a good story because, you know, first off, you obviously, you need to have family around you. But you also need to have a healthy family around you. And I think out of the entire family, I think she's got to be the healthiest out of all of them.

01:33:01 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and she said, you know, contrary, or she's not saying this, but I am hearing that contrary to some of the reports, she was not blindsided by mom showing up at her doorstep. They have been texting a little bit more and more and more lately. Tina Turner is getting massive boosts across streaming platforms since her passing this week. Her songs and albums have all seen some pretty crazy spikes in listens and downloads. This song right here has seen a 230,575% boost in sales. Private Dancer Up, We Don't Need Another Hero, The Best, all up over 200,000%. As for her albums on Amazon, those are all up in the hundreds of thousands of percentages as well. She's also having a big surge on iTunes with What's Love Got to Do With It, Proud Mary, and Better Be Good to Me. Just some of the singles pushing their way back to the top. I want to watch the movie, the Angela Bassett movie, don't you? So do I, yes. Yeah. By the way, Tina's cause of death has been revealed. No big surprise here. Natural causes. She was 83 years old, and she had been battling a few things over the past couple of years as well. Elvis Starr, Austin Butler, and model Kaia Gerber all over the internet right now because everybody's thinking they got engaged, and there was a lot of speculation that he popped the question last month. They've just been trying to keep things quiet, but I'm being told from a few different sources that not true, at least not yet. He was spotted helping her move into a brand new home this week. I am hearing it's not just her home, that they purchased it together. So maybe it'll happen soon if it hasn't already and everybody's just lying to us. And lastly, on the season three premiere of The Kardashians last night on Hulu, Kim, opening up to her mom about all of the frustration she has felt that she has done a decent job, so she says, of keeping the family's life private. Yet Kanye West has been publicly humiliating her about her sex tape. I never comment. i never post like he has made up the most insane narrative about you and the tape and but even just like how he looks so down on me for like my tape and brings it up all over town all over the media like thanks for reminding people once again is going to be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be she's also frustrated that kanye promoted the narrative that she hooked hooked up with drake he was the one that started a rumor that said i was hooking up with drake having an affair our whole marriage she accused me of that publicly so the person that's supposed to protect me the most publicly would accuse me of having an affair i really can't wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector for all of today's dirty check out the dirty page on mojo in

01:35:52 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

up next kevin so kevin is the new member of the mojo in the morning show and you think a new job would give you good karma but it didn't on the first week that you start a new job i know you got to be tired as hell have you been have you been going home and just crashing after the show's

01:36:20 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 4:

over with yeah i mean you do your best but you still got life right so it's only so much sleep you can get but i don't have to wake up as early as shannon so i get at least an extra hour in i'd say but i i thought i'm i think i'm a good person so i don't know where this bad karma is coming from um but i guess the backstory is my mom is like i don't know she's one with the lord so she she she warned me for the past two weeks my mom's been saying like move your car from the area that you're parking in. And I'm like, no, I've been living in this apartment complex for about two years. I park in this same space. Do you have an assigned space or no?

01:36:54 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 3:

No. But literally nothing has ever happened. What is your mom so cautious about this space? What did your mom think about

01:37:02 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 4:

this space? She just said, move it. She just felt as though something was going to happen to my car. Either somebody was going to break in it. She just had this feeling, move your car. And of course, I don't listen. I'm just like, it's okay. Just brush it off a little bit but i should have listened i walk outside and my car has been ran into oh i got front end damage to the point where like my front bumper is hanging off the light is completely broken that's a lot of damage it's emotional damage i walked outside i'm like what is happening right now you need some flex tape so i go outside i see the wreck i immediately you know want to make the the claim report i call the police so i can start the you know that paperwork and get my police report number and all that stuff to handle and when the police officer gets there we look under the windshield wiper and there's a note and i'm like okay let me read the note uh beautiful handwriting so it had to be a female um because i mean i don't write no guy writes like no guy rights like this immediately they didn't put their name but they go sorry for the inconvenience my apologies i've already called my claims adjuster they'll call you we started the whole thing so i call my guy he gives me the rundown and the thing that piques my interest the most is the fact that he says i can either proceed with the claim through my insurance or i can use the other person's insurance and i'm like okay well what's the difference he starts giving me the pros and the cons yeah the thing that stuck out the most is if i go through my insurance provider even though i didn't cause the accident it can still show up in my claim history and in the future my premiums may increase because of this that doesn't sound right that's ridiculous that doesn't sound like it should be right it's not even my you can literally you need to call jake my car is parked my car is parked there's no there's literally nothing else i could have done in this situation to prevent this but yet my premium you know what you could have done

01:39:02 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

honestly you know what you could have done don't say it listen to your mom you listen to your mom you're if you listen to your mom and this is here's here's where we're going on this topic right now what did your mom warn you about that you shouldn't do that came back to bite you in the ass later because of you should have listened to your mom pretty much everybody you ready for the list yeah wait wait so you told you said your mom told you not to park there you parked there your mom said and your mom's a good lady yeah she's the best she's a religious woman yeah she had a feeling this is not a good parking spot i want to see this parking spot now because i bet you the parking spot is next to the dumpster and it's like crooked and it's got probably cars that are backing right up to it you're not that far off and then and then what Okay, how much damage you have on the front of the thing? I'll show you a picture. It's pretty messed up. Is it?

01:40:00 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 5:

Is it, though?

01:40:01 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm sending a picture to the group chat right now.

01:40:03 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean? Is it, though?

01:40:06 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 3:

You think I'm exaggerating? Yeah.

01:40:08 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 4:

No. How much money do they think?

01:40:10 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 3:

I don't know yet. So I took the pictures and uploaded it to the site yesterday, so we'll see.

01:40:15 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 8:

I remember my insurance. Oh, yeah. Oh, is it bad? Oh, yeah. Do I feel bad now? Yep. Let's see. Oh, dang.

01:40:21 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 4:

Hold it up and just let me show her. Oh, yeah. Oh, Megan. Oh, my God. The bumper is, like, coming right off. That's not a ding.

01:40:28 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 8:

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I really understand.

01:40:30 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 4:

That's more than emotional damage on that one. If I saw that thing, I would be... Emotional damage! I would be freaking out if I saw that thing. Yeah, that's not good. By the way, what the hell was she doing that she did that?

01:40:44 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 3:

So look, yeah, so I talked to their claims of gesture. I'm like, you know, so it had to happen in the morning. Have you seen this person? I've never seen this person. Okay. And they didn't leave a name. They didn't leave anything. They just left a phone number of their insurance company. Exactly. But I called and their excuse was they fell asleep. And we all know what really happened. They were drunk.

01:41:04 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 4:

They were.

01:41:04 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

High, high. You're both high.

01:41:06 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 8:

Of course. Or they were on their phone.

01:41:10 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it had to happen between the hours of like 2 a.m. and like 5 or something like that.

01:41:15 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 6:

You are high as a f***ing kite.

01:41:18 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 4:

Victor, what's happening?

01:41:21 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Hey, morning, Mojo. Hey, I was just calling. I felt Kevin so strong because I was in the same situation two years ago. I got out of church on a Sunday and pulled into Kroger real quick. It was less than five minutes. Walked back out to my car. My front passenger door was dead. Someone ran into it. And I parked underneath one of them cameras. But, you know, I called the cops. They said they can't do anything about it because I did not actually see who did it. So I had to go through my insurance. Six months later, my premium went up. And it was because of that claim.

01:41:50 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 4:

So is there any way to pull cameras? I mean, everywhere there's cameras these days.

01:41:54 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah, there is. But, you know, they said I couldn't, since I didn't witness it, and I'm not sure what Kroger said about the camera, but they said I had to actually have seen the owner of the car with the registered, you know, the registered owner.

01:42:08 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if the insurance companies will do that, where they'll call the location, like the Kroger in your case, and say, Caleb, turn your radio down, okay? I'm not sure what's going on.

01:42:19 - 01:42:20 | Unknown:

All right, all right.

01:42:20 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Caleb?

01:42:22 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, last year I bought a 2012 SRT Jeep, and my mom was telling me, just wait on it, just wait on it, search around. I blew the motor the first month I had it. I had it rebuilt without warranty, and now I'm going back to the motor shop again. I cracked the bell housing and everything, so I know exactly how Kevin's family.

01:42:40 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 8:

How long did it take you to admit to your mom that all of this happened after she told you not to buy it?

01:42:49 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 2:

Probably right about now.

01:42:51 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 4:

don't call me mom by the way that's the beauty of this he still hasn't told his mom his mom still doesn't even know sarah what's happening oh uh yeah can you hear me yeah there

01:43:06 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 7:

you are i i texted in saying that he should certainly go through her insurance company because in the state of michigan if you're illegally parked the at-fault party is 100 percent responsible and they are required to provide you a loaner vehicle and you're an

01:43:20 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 4:

insurance agent i am yeah oh okay first off first off real quick kevin you should get this lady's number yeah for sure and the reason why you should switch your insurance over to her because if your insurance guy was dumb enough to not tell you that same thing you got the wrong insurance guy right sarah that's right do you mind if i get your number sarah hit you up yeah you can for sure hold on one sec we'll have lydia write it down uh for you okay that's great so again if you're legally parked somebody hits you and you are legally parked you go through their insurance because they're the responsible ones because i was gonna say right you're you're innocent in this one there's nothing you can do about this whole thing they can't they can't do this so all right hold on one second don't go anywhere i'm all i keep thinking in my head is kevin's mom i've never met kevin's mom none of us have met kevin's mom but when we meet her the first thing i'm going to say is tell me about that parking spot i just want to hear what you have to say about that parking spot because i want her to just go off on kevin what's up rosa how you doing

01:44:23 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 5:

what's going on well i just want to talk about the topic because literally this is all i do

01:44:36 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 6:

like the last 10 years of my life i've dealt with insurance oh really like because you had problems in your life that you had to deal with insurance no no no no i work with insurance okay sorry if you hear elliot crying in the background that's okay woke up yeah so i work so i worked with physical therapy for about eight years and i was a front desk so i work with medical insurance i currently right now work

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 3:

with dental insurance and i've dealt with auto insurance so and the insurance company's job i've

01:45:06 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 4:

learned this out is to not pay you right you pay them they don't want to pay you anything

01:45:10 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 3:

yeah 110 the insurance company is the biggest pinesy scheme ever you will be paying so much into premiums they will find any loopholes you have to not pay you yeah like okay let's hypothetically speaking let's just talk about medicare and medicaid oh you know what that's

01:45:28 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 4:

too much deep listen yeah you had me at the baby crying i'm sorry i gotta move the next one put elliot back on i have no no offense no offense but this is not wjr if this is wjr we would we're not we're not educational programming all right she's a very nice lady call us back again but uh no clara what's going on this mojo in the morning hey i was just calling because that

01:45:52 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 2:

reminded me of when i was a teenager with my dad and he is very strong with his beliefs and his feelings as well so when he tells you something you should listen well this day i was going to the mall with all my friends and he said i don't feel like you should go i really think that you should stay home and of course i didn't listen i was like everything's gonna be fine well all of my friends got caught stealing and he ended up having to come and get me and the entire time he walked me through that mall going if your daughter looks like this she should probably listen to her dad because they all just got cropped stealing. Oh. But you know what? I never stole a day alone in my life again.

01:46:32 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 4:

You know what? Listen, I'm a parent. I'm a dad. I have told my kids numerous times, I will not tell you I told you so. I will just tell you what I think you should do. And I

01:46:48 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 5:

lie. Because I tell them I told you so all the time. I can't wait to tell them I told you so I actually I hope they don't listen to me So I can tell them I told you so As a parent you want to tell them You told you so

01:47:03 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry You guys have a good morning

01:47:08 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 4:

By the way hold on a second we're having a Medicare Insurance seminar It's Mojo in the morning show How was Smith's Graduation from preschool yesterday

01:47:19 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 1:

It was so good you guys It was adorable. It was adorable, and he wore a little white cap and gown, which, by the way, he's headed up north right now with his dad, my ex-husband Andrew, and grandma and grandpa came to pick him up, and he's still wearing the graduation cap. Really? He wore it all night last night. I finally said at bedtime, you need to take it off. That's so cute. He was so cute and so excited, and he went to a religious preschool. and so they actually did Pomp and Circumstance which that's when I cried I showed up to the classroom and the teacher without even saying anything to me she just handed me a bunch of Kleenex I know you I know you and she was right I did use it but so they sang all these cute little songs before they actually graduated I died You guys, it was so cute.

01:48:24 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 4:

So cute. That is honestly cute.

01:48:29 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he was really excited. He's nervous to go to kindergarten, but very excited. But I mentioned that he goes to or he went to a religious preschool as I bring up this next story about what this child was doing.

01:48:40 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 4:

Is this going to be like a ball story for Luke? Okay.

01:48:43 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:48:44 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 4:

Don't swear. Don't say anything bad. Yes. Don't do anything. Yeah.

01:48:47 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so this started a couple of weeks ago, and I kind of let it go. because I didn't really know what he was doing. But he was doing this thing where he would curl his little fist into a ball and then he would stick up his pinky finger at you, okay? And he did this to everybody everywhere he went. He kept doing it to me until finally I said, what does that mean? Why do you keep doing that to me? And he said that a kid at school taught him that it's like sticking up your middle finger in China, okay? So I'm like, first of all, how do you even know that the middle finger is bad? Second of all, I want to corroborate this kid at school's story that this really is that. So I look it up on the internet. And not only is it like a, you know, it is kind of like giving the middle finger. It's showing your distaste with somebody. But apparently it can also mean, especially if it's guy to guy, you're belittling their penis size.

01:49:46 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 4:

Come on, really? What?

01:49:48 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

it's Smith my child right this is like so I say to him you cannot do that anymore it is disrespectful

01:50:00 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 2:

Mom doesn't want you doing it anymore. Well, fast forward to his baseball game this week, okay? He's playing third base, and I think I was talking yesterday about the baseball game. I was talking to a bunch of my girlfriends who also have little boys on the team. He's playing third base. Andrew, my ex-husband, and Andrew's dad are sitting kind of right behind him on the sidelines or whatever. I'm a ways away. I can still see Smith perfectly. I can see Andrew and Andrew's dad. So I see Smith start to do the pinky thing. And I'm like, good God, above, I'm going to have to be that mom that goes over and says, stop doing that. Wait. Stop doing that. He's just doing it to the kids on the field? Well, he's doing it, but then I realized he's doing it to Andrew's dad, and Andrew's dad is doing it back to him. So I go over to Andrew's dad, and he is the sweetest, nicest man in the whole entire world, okay? And I said, you, you, please stop doing that back to him. First of all, I motioned to Smith. I'm doing the like, cut it out, cut it out, cut it out. And I say to Andrew's dad, let me tell you, please stop doing that to him. And he said, why? What does that mean? And I said, well, it's essentially like you're, you're giving him the middle finger in China, allegedly, but it also is you guys telling each other you have, you have small penises. Okay. No penis. Oh my God. You have a little penis The crap these kids learn at school, I swear

01:51:31 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so did you tell Smith that that's what it means?

01:51:34 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

No, I just, I did not Because he doesn't need more ammo to keep doing it Oh yeah? Right?

01:51:45 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 1:

This, by the way, is the religious education that he got I see guys Sticking their pinky finger up Oh my god, that's hysterical What did Grandpa say?

01:52:07 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 2:

By the way, did you see the nice picture that I got I said, Smith, can mom just get one nice picture with you And your graduation cap and gown Well, I posted the one I got That was it I wasn't trying anymore I love this kid so much. He has such a great personality.

01:52:22 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 1:

What did Grandpa say when you told him the little penis thing?

01:52:25 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 2:

He just started laughing so hard.

01:52:27 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:52:28 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:52:29 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 1:

That makes me laugh so hard that that's the case. By the way, hey.

01:52:34 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Right back at you.

01:52:38 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 1:

I did not know that that was the case. I had no clue with the pinky thing. That's actually kind of a cool thing. We had a friend of ours, Steve Gorski. His mom was like, you know, the ultimate mom. She was like all our friends' moms. And she could not do the middle finger because she broke her hand years ago. And so she couldn't do the middle finger, so she would stick her thumb out at people. So she would be driving down the street, and if people cut her off, she was a feisty Polish lady. She would all of a sudden start doing this with her thumb up, and the people would be looking at her like, she's telling me to get out or whatever.

01:53:15 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing a good job.

01:53:18 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, congratulations to you, Smith. Mojo in the Morning Show. So what's the best dating app or service as far as the stats are concerned of people that are in relationships? and obviously you know we're not talking to people that just want to get a hook up okay we're talking to people that actually want a relationship they want something a little bit long term not just uh go out have sex and then move on to the next one i'm talking to you whatever your name is um can you guys guess which one was uh given the five star rating which one was told that is the best of the best. And by the way, this is according to a survey that was done by dating experts, dating therapists that surveyed more than 2,500 people, and they are on dating services, and they asked them about their relationships and which ones were considered to be their best ones and how they met, and they found a commonality to it. Um, and I'm not on a, and I've known do the dating services thing. My wife finds that to be kind of not really something I should do. So I'm not on a, but are any of you guys currently on a dating app at all?

01:54:56 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Are you like, yeah, you're back on them.

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 4:

It really depends on how bored I am.

01:55:03 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 1:

What are you on?

01:55:04 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm on her, and I am on Hinge.

01:55:08 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Her is... What is her? Tell us her.

01:55:10 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 4:

Her is for the ladies. Oh. Just for the girls.

01:55:14 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? For like, you know...

01:55:18 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 4:

What? For what? Lesbian! Are you?

01:55:21 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 1:

Huh?

01:55:22 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:55:23 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I like that. I'm not lesbian. I like that.

01:55:28 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 2:

Lesbian.

01:55:28 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

So I'm on both of those, and I'll tell you what, I did not get a single match until Ellen, our former producer, redid both of my profiles. Oh, really?

01:55:36 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 3:

What did she tweak on there? Oh, everything.

01:55:39 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 4:

Apparently, my personality does not come out right in word form, so she fixed it.

01:55:47 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 1:

Can you do video on her?

01:55:51 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so, no.

01:55:52 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

Because I think that, and I don't do dating apps, so you have to tell me if this is the case, but why do they not do like video reels, TikTok, you know, like you put together something?

01:56:01 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know on Raya, like the dating app that a lot of celebrities use, you have to be invited and like accepted to join, they do video.

01:56:09 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 2:

That's a really good point because I feel like I need to show my personality. Yeah. You can only get so much across in 140 characters.

01:56:17 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 4:

Hinge does voice memos, and I love those because you can get real serial killer or comedian vibes, and I like to sort those two out.

01:56:26 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, I know you're in a relationship, but prior to, did you do any dating apps?

01:56:30 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 2:

Nah, just Instagram and Twitter probably.

01:56:33 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 1:

So social media?

01:56:34 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:56:35 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, I ask you this. Are you on chaldeanmatchmaker.com?

01:56:41 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 5:

I used to be, but I'm not anymore. Really? I was joking.

01:56:44 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 1:

I was joking. Were you on a chaldean one?

01:56:46 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I ended up doing it for a little time.

01:56:48 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 1:

What was it? So what's it called? What's the Chaldean one called?

01:56:51 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 5:

It's called Match Chaldean.

01:56:52 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 1:

Match Chaldean. Okay. Was it good? Did you ever?

01:56:55 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 5:

I did go on one or two dates from that.

01:56:57 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. So you guys want to know what these are? And by the way, I want your comments on this. I want to know your thoughts. You tell us which ones are the best for you. Which ones work for you? Because here's how they voted them. Do you want to? Should I start at three? Yeah. Number three. Coming in at number three. Number three, with a 38% matchability relationship ability rating, Bumble. Bumble. That is number three. I don't know why I'm doing it like this. I feel like I'm Ryan Seacrest. I feel like I'm going to pull out the whole little great pause in between this whole thing. Number two, number two on the list. Match. Yes. I know it's funny because we always think that it's just the swipe apps, even though I know Match has the ability, but Match actually with a, this is a wild one, nearly 50% matchability. And the number one best app to get yourself ass. Hinge. number one yes so that's the uh those are the top three um the other ones that actually got uh honorable mention grinder uh you know what grinder actually was on here grinder is on there but it's number like eight or nine um her is actually on here too her was actually number 13 um e-harmony uh comes in right after uh bumble at three uh followed by bumble oh no i said bumble uh not bumble where did my thing go oh tinder i'm sorry tinder tinder is that high that's pretty wild that that that would be the case um christian matchmaker is on this list too yeah there's there's one called christian christian matchmaker i don't know what that is uh that's on this list farmers only is actually on the list too um you know what's wild about uh all these different uh these apps they have like different things in there like it says e-harmony with its in-depth questionnaire this is the closest thing to hiring an actual matchmaker making it perfect for people who want something super serious and then you go to like Tinder. It's the hookup app. For the best reason out there to go and just get yourself some hopefully protected sex, Tinder is the best way for you to find somebody that is willing to do it on the first date.

01:59:46 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't think Tinder was for relationships.

01:59:49 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 3:

But my very best friend since kindergarten is getting married to a guy she met on Tinder as a joke one night. Both of them, their friends put him on it as a joke. And eight years later, they're getting married this fall. That's incredible. I know. Mojo in the morning, let's see from you. Stephanie, how you doing?

02:00:04 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. How are you? We're good. Good morning.

02:00:07 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 3:

Which one was yours?

02:00:09 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 2:

So I met my husband on POS, Plenty of Fish.

02:00:13 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's on here, too. Plenty of Fish gets high ratings, too. I mean, the matchability, though, is low. It's like 20%.

02:00:19 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 2:

I honestly didn't think I would meet my husband on there, but like I said, I signed up and He started talking to me, and then first date was at the Tigers game, been together for two years, and then we got married in Las Vegas in February, so, you know, it happens.

02:00:36 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 3:

That doesn't sound right, though. If you're on Plenty of Fish, shouldn't you have a church wedding?

02:00:42 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 2:

Actually, we went to the chapel in Las Vegas and got married, so I'm glad I have a church wedding.

02:00:49 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I would have thought that that would be your way of trying to, you know, end it with a whole, we're going to have a pastor there that's going to marry us.

02:00:59 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 2:

No, he did, but the only difference is we both wore black. I wore a black wedding dress. I wasn't going to wear white. Oh, that's so cool.

02:01:06 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 1:

That's an emerging trend right now, too. Black at weddings?

02:01:09 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 2:

It is. It is because, you know, I'm not pure, so there's no point in me wearing white. I'm not going to wear my favorite color.

02:01:17 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 3:

I like it.

02:01:17 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 2:

I love you.

02:01:18 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call.

02:01:19 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 2:

I love you too, Megan. Thank you.

02:01:21 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 3:

You take care of yourself, okay?

02:01:23 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 2:

Bye-bye.

02:01:24 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 3:

All right. Appreciate it. Oh, man. Oh, man. I'm telling you, I just think that people just put so much pressure on things. And I think, you know what the internet really did, though? It made us all just want everything fast and easy. We want our food delivered to us. We want, you know, to-

02:01:47 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 1:

We want free overnight shipping.

02:01:48 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we want free overnight shipping. We don't want to go to movies. We want to sit at home and watch it at home. And we want to swipe and be able to get somebody to come over and, you know, touch your privates. It's honestly, it's really gotten to a point where the good old-fashioned, you know, way of just like actually being either introduced or meeting somebody is gone. And the problem is, and I know that people are going to sit there and go, oh, listen to this guy. He's the married guy for forever and stuff. I'm not speaking just from myself. I'm speaking from the expertise I have of talking to you guys every single morning, the listeners, and Ellen, our former producer. But what it's done is it's made it easy for guys to be a-holes. That's what it's done.

02:02:36 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it has. Google has, but guys were also a-holes in the bars.

02:02:41 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 3:

No, but here's the thing. Guys were a-holes in the bars, but guys that were a-holes in the bar were found out. They're not found out on dating apps

02:02:51 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 1:

Well I think there's also a difference Of like guys at the bar Could be very douchey Wouldn't just walk up to you and be like You're really ugly But you wouldn't believe how many people will match with you And just be like I don't find you attractive You should probably hit the gym And then bounce

02:03:05 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 3:

No it's horrible

02:03:08 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 1:

It's so bad

02:03:09 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 3:

And the other thing that it is Is it's giving these guys the ability To still be able to go and do it and go out and continue to date where if you back back when I was younger if you were out at a bar you got a reputation and you became the person that was known as the you know I remember hosting club gigs back in the day and I remember we had a thing that we did in the bar and it was it was a call out the douchebag and we would call him out during the time that we were there and it Usually, typically, was a guy that we knew was a douchebag. Now, we could have probably gotten sued for that. You know what I mean? Like, nowadays, they probably would have done that. You would have a lawyer coming after you. People loved it. And we would say, five minutes from now, right after we hear this Usher song, we're going to play Call Out the Douchebag. And it was basically, we would bring them out on the floor, and we would do a contest amongst the douches. And the contest was, tell us. Tell us amongst the douches. The contest was we would have them come out and tell us their story of the girl that they picked up the week before and the stuff that, you know, that they did. And what it ended up doing was it ended up making them apparent to everybody else that's out there that thought, oh, that guy actually is kind of cute, but he's really a douchebag. Douchebag! And then there were girls that wanted to still be with douchebags, which I don't understand. So it was a good contest. You should try that, by the way, Kevin. Do you host gigs at all? I know you do it at a Pistons game or a Michigan State game. Call out the beach bag. New halftime game. Yeah. What's going on, Marlene?

02:04:49 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

02:04:50 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

02:04:51 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Welcome, Newbie. You felt really nice. Did you hear that? Oh, thank you. Kevin Marlene's the best.

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Carleen, bye.

02:05:00 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 2:

Marlene used to be my girlfriend until Chelsea started asking me, why is this woman calling you up and making it seem like you guys slept together?

02:05:09 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. No, that's okay. I didn't have that type of personality, I guess.

02:05:13 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 2:

No, I loved it. I thought it was great. At first, she was kind of a little up, and then she realized that you would not sleep with me.

02:05:22 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 3:

You're a little light-skinned for me.

02:05:25 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 2:

But Kevin, watch out. There we go.

02:05:27 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 3:

Watch now. If you want just a hookup, I'm telling you to go to Tagged, like Tagged, you're it. They legitimately will text you and say, do you have clothes on? What's your address? That is how the first conversation starts.

02:05:46 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

Really? Is that an app?

02:05:48 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

How do you spell it? Tagged, like Tagged, you're it, T-A-G-G-E-D.

02:05:53 - 02:05:54 | Unknown:

All right.

02:05:54 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So that's pretty wild. How do you know about this

02:06:00 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't know I've had it probably

02:06:04 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 2:

It's awful It's awful Did you find Did you find some brown skin men on there That were good looking

02:06:13 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh there's a lot of them But I'm not messing with that That's kind of suspect to me

02:06:18 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Alright well you be good Marlene Thank you I will Alright bye Take care

02:06:23 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 5:

Don't get with your ex's best friend Kit with his dad. Become a stepmom.

02:06:29 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 1:

It's the only morning show in my life. This is Mojo in the Morning. And my best friend.

02:06:36 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:06:38 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 2:

By the way, standard tax and data rates to apply in all of our contests. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:06:43 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, after trying to hunt him down for months, NBA Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Shaquille O'Neal was finally tracked down and served. We've been hearing that he's been MIA and dodging lawyers representing FTX investors for months. That failed cryptocurrency brand that he was part of a lawsuit. Well, he was finally served on Tuesday. And again, this is part of this proposed class action lawsuit that had been filed against the company. And here's the kicker. He was served while working for TNT during Tuesday night's Eastern Conference finals game between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.

02:07:22 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 2:

They say that TNT security was keeping people away from him at his request. So that's interesting.

02:07:29 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, it happened. And then Shaq ultimately had that process server kicked out of the arena. And again, Shaq, one of several celebrities and athletes involved in this lawsuit. I know Tom Brady and Giselle, Larry David, tennis star Naomi Osaka, and then Steph Curry all promoted the company in commercial. So they are all a part of it. And then, speaking of Shaquille O'Neal, is this from last night, by the way? Yes. What is this from?

02:07:56 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 2:

The end of the game when they do the wrap-up after the Boston Celtics won and have made it kind of a series.

02:08:05 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Lots of sexual innuendos. Well, one big sexual innuendo happening.

02:08:10 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 5:

I'd love to sit on top of the monster. Jeff Twist. You would enjoy it. I want to sit on top of it. You've been to Fenway before, right? I've never been to Fenway. You've never been to Fenway. I've never been to Fenway. Oh, man. But I want to sit on a – I donate money to the charity to sit on top of that mosque.

02:08:28 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 4:

Shack's like crying. Just a viral moment waiting to happen, man. It's just a viral moment waiting to happen. What you want to sit on a truck? All right. Stop it, man. Stop, Chuck. Hey, Jenna, send us a tweet, Jenna. We're on our way to Miami for game six. at the conference finals. Once a week, it's still alive. On today's episode of What the Chuck Did You Say? That game Saturday is a monster. I love it.

02:08:59 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

I love when you laugh so hard. Nowadays, you got to say pause. You talked about this earlier.

02:09:05 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 5:

You got to say pause.

02:09:06 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Let's see. Raquel Levis and her family actually got the FBI involved in the fallout from the Scandaval. Her affair with fellow Vanderpump Rules star Tom Scandaval. The threats have been popping up both online and over the phone. They've been getting them as well, and they've gotten bad. One of them, for example, somebody wrote they wanted to tear Raquel from limb to limb and then dump her body. Jesus Christ. I mean, come on, guys. You don't even know this person. You're taking this too far. It's actually very disturbing. Raquel away getting some mental health treatment in the wake of the cheating scandal. She has not been seen out in public in weeks. Target has lost $9 billion in market value since social media called for a boycott over its rollout of the Pride collection featuring LGBTQ-friendly clothing for children.

02:10:00 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 4:

Target said earlier in the week they were removing some items from its stores and making some other changes to this merchandise ahead of Pride Month after getting some intense backlash from customers who were confronting workers and getting into fights. Some were tipping over displays. I mean, let's not even talk about what was happening online. Target declined to specify which items it was removing. I know the ones that received the most attention were some tuck-friendly women's swimsuits. Target CEO Brian Cornell had defended this LGBTQ plus friendly merchandise saying it was the right thing for society but we just you can compare here a week ago Target stock closed at 160 bucks a share just over that as of early yesterday shares of the company were trading off at $141.76 so a 12 percent drop that has shaved nine billion dollars off of Target's market capitalization

02:10:50 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 1:

And now some Christian organizations are going after Chip and Joanna Gaines because I guess they sell their vocation there. And they're outwardly, I guess, pretty religious people or something like that. And they're trying to get them to pull. So it would be interesting. I wonder if this will be a Bud Light type situation for them.

02:11:07 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. And lastly, out this weekend, Disney's remake of The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, and Awkwafina.

02:11:15 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

02:11:17 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hey. Didn't expect to find you here.

02:11:19 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

and I really didn't expect to find her here.

02:11:22 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Hey, you listen to me, bird. The king can never hear of this. We are going to forget this ever happened. Are you listening to me? Yes. You won't tell him, I won't tell him and I will stay in one piece, you got it?

02:11:36 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 4:

Also out about my father, a comedy starring Robert De Niro and The Machine starring Mark Hamill. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheWorning.com.

02:11:59 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, we have a baby. We do have a baby. And we will hear from mom and dad coming up here in a second. And we'll surprise you with the sex and the baby's name. Mike's going to be on with us and Allie's going to be on with us in a second for that. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Speaking of babies, babies hate Megan.

02:12:27 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 3:

No, it's true.

02:12:29 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 1:

So you've been around a lot of babies because all your friends are having babies right now?

02:12:33 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what's in Lake Erie's water, but I'm going to tell you what. Everybody I know is getting pregnant right now, and it's driving me nuts because, yeah, whatever. Like I have some babies But honestly if you know me I don't know if I want kids Shannon can you tell them the truth

02:12:54 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 4:

She's actually really great with kids I love babies She's really great with kids I'm ready for mommy Like Megan's the fun aunt Auntie Meg Sorry I know you hate Meg

02:13:06 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know what name you hate She hates Shani Thanks Shani Appreciate you Um, so all of my, my, my really good girlfriend just had her baby, um, like two weeks ago ish. And I've noticed this pattern where I don't know what I do or what kind of energy I give off because I think that I have fun energy, but every time I hold a baby, that baby starts crying. Okay. And it's really started to hurt my feelings. I went over to my girlfriend's house a couple, what was it yesterday, the day before? um and uh she like i said two week old baby uh we're passing it around she had quite a few girlfriends over her husband was there because they're you know on maternity paternity leave or whatever and they're passing the baby around and the baby's awake and he's happy and he loves everybody and he's so happy to be in the world and then it's my turn to hold the baby and he starts crying and i immediately pass him off not even to mom or dad but just to another friend he's never met before, and he is calm and collected. Hand him back to me, immediately starts crying again. I don't know what touch I have, but it's the baby cry

02:14:20 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 1:

touch. I am shocked by this, because I, when I hold babies, tend to find that babies love to be held by me in my big bosoms.

02:14:34 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes, that's it. And what

02:14:36 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

ends up happening is babies will hold, and they will look at me they can be crying and i will hold them uncle mojo will hold them and i'll squeeze them close to my chest you know and they will go food look at that food milk milk how is it that my big bosoms don't uh keep the babies calm but you you know or you're my big bosoms do

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 3:

And yours don't.

02:15:01 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 4:

Do you think the babies can sense that the only mantra going on in my head is, don't drop this baby. Yes. Don't drop this baby. I really do, by the way.

02:15:08 - 02:15:15 | Speaker 5:

You mentioned it at the beginning, is it my energy? I do think that there's something about an anxious energy, and it's felt, right? You give it off.

02:15:16 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm just not super comfortable. I know what to do. I know support the head, make sure they're breathing, whatever. But in my head, it's like, don't hurt this child. I'm not super comfortable.

02:15:30 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 3:

And that's the thing is that you have been around, you know, Mike and Allie more probably than any of the rest of us because you and Mike are so close. And I sit there and I think this baby already knows you. And if the baby already knows you, like with your friends who have bad babies, maybe it's the things that you're saying around them. Maybe they know you. Lindsay, what did you want to say to Megan?

02:15:53 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 1:

Megan, I was saying how babies sense energy if they don't like you. I'm kidding. It's a joke

02:15:59 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 3:

Shannon actually said there's truth By the way That Megan's got some energy going on That is making the baby Scared What quite possibly could it be You hear her every morning

02:16:13 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 1:

I don't know Babies are funny I don't know

02:16:18 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that the babies are like Oh my god this lady is very loud Holding me right now Why is this baby so loud I think that Megan actually is going to be a fantastic mom And I know you don't like this I know you don't like that thought But I do think that you're going to be a fantastic mom

02:16:40 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely never going to happen But I do, I don't know what it is As soon as they turn four Like I am the best Kids love me four and older But under four they're like Get away from me

02:16:52 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 3:

Don't want anything to do with it By the way, I do want you to know that we just are getting pictures in of a baby. I die. Really? Yeah. So I'm going to play for you when Mike and Allie were on the air with us and what they said. So let me play that for you real quick. Hold on a second here. Because this was actually pretty, pretty cool. And I'll play that. And then you can, you know, get to look at these pictures because we're going to post them like almost immediately as soon as we can get them up there. But here you go. So this is from earlier this morning when Mike and Allie were on the air with us. Unveiling baby. Guys, we got a baby.

02:17:36 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes, we do.

02:17:38 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 3:

Our team is growing. It's time. How amazing is this? Mike and Allie had their baby in what was a week early of what their due date was. But on the same day that they got to spend the entire day with their other kids at the zoo for Cecily's field trip, let's go live to the hospital right now where mom and dad are. Mike, are you there?

02:18:08 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 2:

Hello, guys. Congratulations. How's that? Thank you. Thank you.

02:18:14 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 3:

This is so special. By the way, Mike, how good is this that it was sandwiched in between Mother's Day and Father's Day for you guys?

02:18:23 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't even think of that. It turned out kind of perfect. It all happened so fast yesterday. Honestly, it was very unexpected.

02:18:30 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 3:

Before you tell us the sex of the baby, because I want that to be like the big pinnacle of this conversation here. I want people to have to listen for a little bit here. I want to know what was going on. Like, give us step by step. so you went to the zoo you did the field trip thing okay right yeah yep yep so we go to the

02:18:50 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 2:

field trip uh there's a lot of walking involved in that and she had a moment of like the the Braxton Hicks which are like the early uh contractions and nothing big it was very spaced out we're walking around and everything seems fine and then we get back to the house and she goes i gotta start tracking these and i go no it's too soon for that and i was like do you need me to this is probably five six o'clock i'm like do you need me to start calling people and letting people know you know we got a bunch of appointments tomorrow we have you know a bunch of you know i got work stuff i gotta take care of you got stuff you gotta take care of should i start you know putting our bags in the car she's like no i don't think so let's go get some let's go get some ice cream so we take the kids we go get ice cream and we're in line at the ice cream place and she goes we gotta go and i go what she goes these are one after another after another and it happened so fast and so then we get to the hospital and uh we we packed our bags we raced to the hospital we get the kids to the hospital now we've arrived to the hospital at 7 47 i think that's the time i text you guys and um

02:20:00 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Um, and it's happening like now, like, like this baby is coming. And so no joke, you guys, within two hours, uh, the, the epidural didn't even fully kick in within two hours. This baby was coming. Oh my God. You, you ever see the movies where everybody sees like the pregnancy in the births in the movies and it's like this woman screaming and it's, it's wild, but you're like, there's no way that's real. There's no way that's real. That is what happened last night It was, yeah It was the wildest It was so fast There was no time for the medicine to kick in And it was, it was intense Sadie wanted to party

02:20:42 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 2:

Mike, how did you Do, did you keep calm Because one thing that we all know About you is that You know how to be a husband You know how to be a dad But you don't necessarily know how to keep Calm sometimes

02:20:58 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask Allie Allie how do you think I did

02:21:02 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 4:

No I don't think there was any calm there But yeah I didn't see any of that Congratulations Allie Oh my gosh Allie this is huge

02:21:11 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god alright so here's moment of truth Moment of truth I don't know which one of you guys wants to tell us But we have a baby What do we have And what do we call this This alien child

02:21:25 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 3:

so Allie we have a baby boy oh my gosh we have a baby boy that was born at 957 last night wow And his name is...

02:21:51 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow, Ryan Seacrest. That was amazing. Ryan Seacrest. Okay.

02:21:58 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 3:

His name is Sebastian Emmanuel Aguilar.

02:22:02 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Let's go. What a name. Let's go. That is so awesome. Let's go. Oh, my God. That is Sebastian Emmanuel Aguilar. Is that unbelievable? And by the way, if you listen to the rest of the podcast, which you can check right now, it's up there right now, find out why they named their baby that name. And was that the name of that dolphin that Mike and Allie and those guys saw when they were on that vacation? You can actually get all that details and check it out and pictures up, Mojo in the Morning. Go see it. Make sure that you're doing this, okay? We want you to be part of the family. We do have a surprise for another person here on the show. We had the surprise of Mike's baby. So what a surprise for Allie and Mike to give birth to their baby a week early. But we have a surprise for another member of the Mojo in the Morning Show. And this is a pretty cool thing. But Jody is going to be our next guest. Jody, will you come in here? Joe, please welcome Jody. Jody. Jody, will you grab that microphone? Sit down, put her in the microphone there, and I'll tell you where Jody's from and who Jody is here to surprise. Jody is here from a very reputable, incredible organization, actually publication, to announce something very big, and that is, Jody, go ahead, please.

02:23:34 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 1:

So I'm with Our Detroit Magazine, and we've got the Best of Detroit program and Miss Shannon over here just won our Reader's Choice voting for the best radio host. What?

02:23:52 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

02:24:02 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 4:

02:24:04 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes. I love it.

02:24:08 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 1:

That's really nice. We had almost a million votes in over 200 categories. Hey, wait.

02:24:14 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 4:

I really love that.

02:24:15 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? Isn't that cool?

02:24:18 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 4:

But that would not happen without the help of this team that is around me.

02:24:22 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Stop it. Take the ownership yourself. This is for you.

02:24:24 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 4:

I give it back, and I accept it on behalf of all of us. I won't take it.

02:24:29 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Let me say this to you. This comes with a lot of responsibility, okay? Because you're going to have to, you know, show all the little radio DJs out there in radio land that they need to work hard, eat. What do you eat in the morning? Not much, to be honest with you. It's a lot of coffee. But, no, this is honestly really cool. And then you can celebrate the entire Best of Detroit party, which is happening on June the 2nd, right, over at the Westin Book Cadillac.

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm really honored to work on the publication. That's cool.

02:26:09 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 2:

Shannon.

02:33:45 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 2:

Pitbull good feeling. Are you laughing at me, Megan? Yeah, that was a terrible guess.

02:33:53 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 1:

That was a terrible guess.

02:33:56 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 2:

Let's see what you come up with. That was a little dead chat boys, guys.

02:33:59 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, it's going to be a long contest. By the way, we don't listen to the whole song, so I just want everybody to know that.

Oh, crap balls.

02:34:20 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 1:

02:41:24 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 2:
