00:02:40 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat it's showtime

00:02:55 - 00:03:25 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:25 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning show so um your kids were partying at a park well not partying or playing at a park i guess well yeah and nine and five and here there's a lot of peas in this thing Party Park Panties. Yes. The case of the park panties.

00:03:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 1:

So one of my really good girlfriends, her name is Jess, invited us to her house the other night. And she actually lives in my neighborhood. So we rode our bikes over there, myself, Wes, my fiance, and then Lucy and Smith. And she has some kids and some other neighborhood kids came over and we sent them all down to the park at the end of her street so we could eat dinner and have a cocktail in peace. And the kids love doing this. They love getting to be on their own. It's right at the end of the street. Well, a little while later, they come home. It gets dark. They all come back, you know, as we told them to do. They were all dying laughing, all these little kids. And one of the little boys, who was the last to walk up to my friend's porch that we were all sitting on, showed up with a stick, okay? And there's something dangling from the stick. A black lace thong. They found it in the grass at the park, picked it up with the stick, and decided to bring it home and show all of the parents. Why is there a blessing?

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

A black lace thong in the grass at the park.

00:05:03 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to know.

00:05:04 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think we know.

00:05:05 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

I think, if anything, we know because we've done six on sex for many, many years on this show. And we've always found out that when we ask the question of, have you ever had sex in a public place? The park is always the place.

00:05:17 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

It's so funny. Smith had a handful of dandelions. This kid shows up with a black thong.

00:05:22 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Winner. I think he wins the prize of prizes that you get at that. Do you remember when you were a kid, Mike, and you would go out and play with your friends and you would find something that you weren't supposed to find? Like you would find like something that was like either discard and it became your cool thing that you would keep in your little stash of things, you know?

00:05:42 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think I found a Swiss Army knife, which wasn't that big of a deal. But at the time as a kid, you're like, oh, my God, you know how many things I'm going to do with this Swiss Army knife?

00:05:50 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, that's a winner right there, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:05:54 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Like, I would expect the kids to find empty alcohol bottles or, like, beer cans or whatever. But a black lace stop. Oh, yeah. You're telling all your friends. I don't know.

00:06:06 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. I'm going to give away the Naughty Moms Night Out to Christina. And I want to ask her that question. Christina, we're doing Naughty Moms Night Out. And you're a winner. You're going to be with us. Congratulations.

00:06:16 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

Woo-hoo. Thank you.

00:06:18 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

We're setting you up with passes to go to Naughty Mom's Night Out on May the 12th at the Daxton Hotel.

00:06:26 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. That's a week before my birthday.

00:06:29 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 1:

Awesome. And how many kids do you have?

00:06:31 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 5:

I have three.

00:06:32 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. How old are they?

00:06:34 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 5:

My son is about to be seven, and then I have a nine-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old daughter.

00:06:39 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so your seven-year-old son goes to the park with you and your friends like Shannon did with her friends and comes home with the thong. What are you doing? Are you quickly grabbing those things like every mom probably would? Yeah, for sure. What do you think? Do you think that it was a thong off at the park for somebody?

00:06:58 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Someone definitely was doing something they shouldn't have been.

00:07:02 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

By the way, who discards their thongs, though? Like, they're expensive, aren't they?

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

They're expensive. Yeah. It was probably more than that. I think poor decisions were made, and I don't think it was intentionally left behind. That was probably a forgotten item.

00:07:15 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Did you look to see if the thongs had any remnants of... Ew!

00:07:21 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Stop! What? Absolutely don't continue that sentence.

00:07:25 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 3:

Duty! Oh, no. We did not examine them closely. That little boy was told to go put them in the garbage can by the garage. You think that's what they were doing?

00:07:33 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

No, I have actually duded myself and thrown my underwear.

00:07:38 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 3:

No, no. No, we're not taking this conversation here.

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, Christina, do you think it was from something sexual or something duty? What were your thoughts?

00:07:47 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 5:

Probably sexual because it was in a park, and that's a common place.

00:07:50 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Have you ever had sex in a park? God, no. Who's had sex in a park? In a lot of places, but not there. The sex in a park thing is bad because you're potentially going to get yourself brought up on charges. Like, I'd rather, if I'm going to do a public it, you know, sex, I'm not doing it in a place where there could potentially be kids because that's where you get yourself big-time felonies.

00:08:12 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 3:

And the thing about this park is everything's out in the open. There are no tunnels or anything. And part of the park backs up to a quiet neighborhood. And the other part of the park is, like, on a busier street. Not a busy street, but definitely a busier street where there's always cars.

00:08:28 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 1:

So you're saying that there's no hiding spot to do it.

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

There's no hiding spot in that park. Nope. There's no, like, big tree. There's none of that.

00:08:34 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:35 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

New great game. Sex or duty, though. That is a great game. That's good.

00:08:38 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

By the way, do you remember when you were a kid and your friends would say, okay, yeah, what do you got? And I remember specifically a kid. Phil Sherman was a guy that I went to school with. Philip Sherman. And Philip Sherman brought his sister's underwear to show us, you know, guys, I want to show you guys something. And he pulls out underwear and we're like, oh, my God, look at those. And then when he goes, these are my sister's underwear.

00:09:08 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

We were all like Did you ever bring Aunt Pat's underwear to school?

00:09:13 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

No, I never did

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, who does that?

00:09:16 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, it was weird One of the guys was so excited about it though Because you're a kid, you're a teenage Or not a teenage kid, we were probably Pre-middle school What are you, 9 years old, 10 years old, 11 years old Something like that? The excitement level of having The underwear He's got your first pimple

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning

00:09:40 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

We can do six on sex here in a second Shannon, just moments ago You were talking about the park Painty The mystery of the Thongs that were found In the park by Your children Yours and your friends' children Lynette, what's happening?

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 2:

well i lost my virginity at a school park oh gee then and then the guy took my underwear and hung it on his rearview mirror for a while classy guy

00:10:15 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 1:

how did you feel about that like was it something that was was it degrading to you or was that proud Was that a proud moment?

00:10:28 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I felt proud at the time, but that was 20 years ago. So now that looking back at it, I'm not so happy about it.

00:10:37 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, that's funny. You think he still has them, by the way? Yes.

00:10:42 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, but I hope not. That'd be weird.

00:10:47 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 1:

So wait, 20 years ago. So how old were you when you lost to Virginia?

00:10:53 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

15.

00:10:53 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

So 15 years old. So this guy's walking around. He's like some 35-year-old dude walking around. That's weird. He's a pocket full of panties.

00:11:03 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 5:

I hope he doesn't still have them because that would be really awkward. He had to put some lotion on the skin like, here's my box of panties. It's like concert tickets. I hold on to memories.

00:11:15 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 1:

By the way, and thank you for the call, by the way, for calling us up. This one reminds me of when I was a kid and we would hang with our friends. And, Shannon, I think that you said Smith might have one of these. 248 says, when I was a kid, I had a metal detector. And we would find all kinds of stuff at the school parks.

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, I need to have them bring it to the park.

00:11:36 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 1:

That's a safe thing because you will not find panties that way. No panties. You'll just find the metal stuff.

00:11:42 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 5:

Not the vodka.

00:11:43 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 1:

Nothing.

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 5:

Can you imagine?

00:11:45 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 1:

You find other things that people-

00:11:47 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

These are my chain mail panties.

00:11:50 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 1:

Nicole, what's going on?

00:11:52 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just calling in. I work next to a park and I took my break over there one day and I got out and I'm like looking on the ground and I'm like what is that and it was literally a pair of maroon panties oh geez must be a thing yeah and I mean it is a kid's park it has you know a cruise ship on it or whatever for them to play on so it's crazy how do you use your underwear I'd be more afraid of

00:12:16 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 6:

getting stuck like in a tube you know what I'm saying like yeah hopefully they're doing it in

00:12:23 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 1:

the car and then just throwing them out the window and not doing it on the kids no they're

00:12:27 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 6:

definitely doing it just keep your panties by the way do you feel weird about letting your kids now

00:12:32 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

play on the playground equipment that's there knowing that this is a bit more cautious i bet gross to begin are you that mom that wipes everything down i am not oh yeah i have boys

00:12:43 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 6:

yeah but think about that bridge right that the kids run across that kind of bounces almost like a water bed. You get a little motion. Yoshi can help you out.

00:12:54 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 1:

Yoshi, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:12:58 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 7:

Alright, so let me tell you guys something. Have you guys ever had sex in a high school party club? Never.

00:13:05 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:13:06 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 7:

I had no choice. I had no money back then. I was going from hotel to motel to whatever you want to call it.

00:13:17 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 1:

How many people are you having sex with? And then you're going hotels to motels.

00:13:21 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 7:

I was a hornball back then, all right? And I just had to find a place where it was, like, very, very dark. And I was like, you know what? My high school has a dark parking lot. Let's just go there.

00:13:42 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 4:

What happened?

00:13:43 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 7:

Did you get busted? You got laid. Yeah, so a cop came, and it was just one hell of a off night. I told him what the problem was, and he's like, well, here's a $500 fine for being nude in public. But after that, I was like, damn. So I just made her pay it.

00:14:09 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

By the way, it would have been cheaper just to go to that motel, wouldn't it?

00:14:21 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but a $500 fine versus like $50 a night at Red Roof Inn, that's a lot of nights of getting laid. How do you know how much that costs?

00:14:30 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 7:

But I had a clean car.

00:14:31 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

You had a clean car. All right. Thank you, Yoshi. I appreciate that. Classy guy. neither new nor improved but still better than the rest just mojo in the morning now we love our mojo back to mojo in the morning mojo in the morning either type of person that when you go into a store you got to like try things out like you got to like test drive it so to speak kind of depends on my mood are you talking about trying on clothes or just

00:15:00 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 3:

anything in general i'm talking about like what are some of the craziest things that people have ever just tried they're not supposed to but lydia what happened with you um i was shopping at h&m

00:15:11 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 1:

and i was just walking around the store and um i walked by a mirror and noticed my eyebrows needed a bit of plucking so i had my hands full of clothes but i didn't hesitate to walk over their accessory rack and open up a pack of tweezers to which I then walked back to the mirror and proceeded to tweeze my eyebrows. Girl I get that once you notice it you can't unnotice it and that has to be taken care of right away. I know I just couldn't help it so I plucked my tweezers in the store and then I bought the tweezers right after. Oh that was good that you bought them what

00:15:47 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 3:

if you didn't like them though what if they were that they're not the right tweezers would you just put them back on the shelf or maybe I mean I got my use out of them so I've often wanted to do that with like nose hair trimmers like I've had it where my nose hairs I always I don't notice my nose hairs unless I'm driving in my car and I see it in my rearview mirror and then I look I'm like oh my god they look horrible they're so you know long they're sticking out and stuff and I've wanted to just go into a Walgreens or you know CVS or one of those drugstores go down the aisle see if they got the nose hair trimmer in there put the double or the triple a batteries in it you know and and just start doing it right there inside the place yeah i have i've bought more nose hair trimmers on a whim of realizing i had somewhere i was going to go and i had a fur like hanging out of my nose um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 do we do you think there's any stores that are listening to the show right now that can call us up and tell us about people trying things out this happens at at stores all the time like we've talked about this at you know meyer and kroger and things where people just all of a sudden just randomly just start taking things from

00:16:55 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 4:

you know but you always pay for it in the end i mean haven't you ever been grocery shopping and sometimes you are so hungry that you open something and just snack a little bit but

00:17:04 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 3:

then you pay for it when you're checking out it's okay to do that if it's an item that doesn't need to be weighed to be paid right if you're right but if you're somebody that's all of a sudden You know, like they have to put it on their scale Like if it's, you know, grapes You can't just all of a sudden Just start taking grapes out of the thing

00:17:21 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Right Wasn't it you who ate the apple? Am I thinking of somebody else? You like ate an apple

00:17:27 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 3:

But it had a tag on it And I didn't know they had to weigh it

00:17:30 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 4:

But you can't do that

00:17:31 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know they did I thought the tag just said how much it would cost And I didn't realize that they had to weigh it Yeah, that was bad

00:17:38 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 4:

And you eating an apple in general Is just offensive

00:17:42 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's theft if you go to a store and you find a shirt that you really like and you're like, I can't wait to wear it. I'm going to wear it right now. And I go out and they say, okay, what would you like to buy? And I'm like, oh, I'm wearing it right now. Here it is. Here's the tag. Hand them the tag and my old shirt.

00:17:58 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

00:18:00 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 3:

It's okay to do?

00:18:01 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:18:02 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 3:

Erin, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:18:04 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Okay, I see people do this all the time at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I watched some girl the other day literally pick up one of the makeup palettes, get her fingers in it, do her makeup, and put it back. So it happens so often with so many different things.

00:18:21 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so she put her makeup on, and then it was all the sample size ones, right?

00:18:28 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 2:

No, because at Marshall's, you can buy, like, full size, like, palettes and stuff. Oh, yeah. And I was standing right there. I was watching her. I don't work there. Like, I was a customer, and I watched her look in the little mirror in the makeup palette, put on the eyeshadow, and then just put it back.

00:18:43 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 4:

That's wild. What Marshalls and TJ Maxx do you go to?

00:18:47 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 2:

I go to the Marshalls on Hall Road. Oh, it's a good one.

00:18:52 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 3:

But be careful. Makeup might be used. What's up, Art?

00:18:57 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up, what's up?

00:18:58 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 3:

What's up, what's up, Art? Are you working right now in a store?

00:19:03 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 5:

I am actually on a ride right now.

00:19:06 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah? And where do you work?

00:19:08 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 5:

Get in the zone, AutoZone.

00:19:10 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 3:

I love it.

00:19:12 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 5:

Do people do this at AutoZone? Yes, they do it with parts. They do it with everything. You know, they might say, hey, you know that thing under the thing over by the thing? You know, I need that thing.

00:19:23 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah? And then they just start using it, huh?

00:19:27 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 5:

They start using it. They give it back. I go back, get another one, do this, do that. It's crazy. It's insane. It's nuts. But I dig the whole tweezer thing, you know. When I'm in the store, I want to try on some underwear. I feel like it's like a guilt trip because, like, that's got underwear. They're different.

00:19:44 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 3:

You can't do underwear. They don't ever let you try underwear or bathing suits on.

00:19:49 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's crazy. They should have, like, some type of disposable drawers you can put on.

00:19:53 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 3:

Guys' bathing suits you shouldn't be trying on. Girls' bathing suits? You have to put, like, something in there.

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

They have the sticker in there.

00:19:59 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Like a panty?

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 2:

sticker or something like that or uh for your to uh cover up the coup i was silent i know i should

00:20:08 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 4:

have just cover up the cuckoo you know you gotta i really need you to pull that audio what's going on suzanne hi for a long time listener yay hold on let me hit the button so it was that time of the month and it wasn't expected and i was wearing like like color pants, and I went to like PJ Maxx. I put stuff on the jeans. I went to the fitting room, put it on, took the tag out, went to pay for it, and I was like, I'm sorry to tell my mom, and it's unexpected. Oh, that's an emergency. You're good. Yeah.

00:20:43 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah, they're nice to you for doing that. Yeah. You got to do what you got to do. Thank you for calling. Will you call us more often?

00:20:51 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 4:

I will, for sure, if I can get through.

00:20:53 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Seriously, you're a friendly voice. We need to hear you more often. What's up? Hannah.

00:20:58 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo. I've called a few times. I just wanted to say my name's Hannah.

00:21:03 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 2:

Hannah.

00:21:04 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Hannah.

00:21:06 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 2:

I am such an idiot.

00:21:09 - 00:21:11 | Unknown:

Oh, my God, you idiot.

00:21:11 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 2:

I apologize. I do that to you all the time, and it doesn't even say it. It's actually spelled H-A-N-A, and I know you have called before, and I've screwed your name up every time, and Hannah is H-A-N-N-A-H, right? Yeah. I'm sorry. You idiot. I apologize.

00:21:27 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 3:

You're all good.

00:21:28 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:21:28 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 3:

I just had a story that my fiancé and his dad, they would go grocery shopping ever since he was a little boy. And the first thing that they would do was go and grab the donuts, you know, out of the little bakery section. And they would eat them while they were going grocery shopping. They would just never pay for that.

00:21:43 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:21:43 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Yeah. And they did that for, like, 12 years.

00:21:48 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Uh-oh. So the little ones, like the little mini ones in the wrapper where there's, I don't know.

00:21:53 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, at Meijer, they had the purple cow. And you could go. No, they would take, like, the apple fritters. Those are his favorites. Oh, yeah, the big guys.

00:22:02 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Yeah. It's funny. I see people sometimes eating subs walking around the store, and I think they pay for them because I think you can buy them right there. That's a weird thing to be eating. Like, I saw a guy who had his Kroger cart, and he had it where the little babies are usually sitting, and he had a sub just, like, pouring out there. And then another guy had a thing of Kroger fried chicken, And he's just sitting there eating chicken, walking through the store. And I'm like, man, you are living your best life at that moment right there. Thanks for listening to us. And not your better judgment. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, Mojo in the Morning. I want to know what happened on Mike's big weekend. So for those that missed this, Mike talked on Friday about how Allie was going away on a bachelorette party weekend and leaving Mike with the kids. Now, Mike's not a guy that, you know, can't handle himself when it comes to the kids. Matter of fact, if you follow Mike on social media, On Air Mike, you'll see this guy went above and beyond. He took the kids to a ton of different places, and it was a great weekend. And no kid got injured, right, in this weekend?

00:23:06 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 1:

They did, but not hospital injured.

00:23:08 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good. Okay.

00:23:09 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's great. Scrapes and bruises. A lot of scrapes.

00:23:11 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 2:

It builds character.

00:23:12 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. We went camping at my father-in-law's place. He's got a place on Sandy Pines, which is like a half an hour from here. So I was close to hospitals if needed. But we, yeah, it's basically like a little kid's, like, fun place. Like, there's tons of stuff to do there. And so we just ran around the whole time. And I don't think I sat down one time. Like, I think I sat down to sit by a campfire to roast marshmallows and then went to bed. And that's the only time I sat down this weekend.

00:23:41 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 2:

Wow. You're active. I said this earlier this morning for those that listen to the podcast, they'll hear it. but I said most dads would have sat on the couch watching sports all weekend and let their kids play video games. You take your kids on adventures.

00:23:54 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, their cousin was in town too, so it kind of helped out a little bit. They had somebody to play with, and I wanted to – I don't get a lot of these weekends with just the two of them, so I wanted to make the most of it and do everything I could. I mean, you see in these moments too what your wife or your spouse or whoever, Or what they, you know, how you're such a great team. Because I missed. There were so many times where I'm like, oh, that's the moment where she would have stepped in and helped me out there. And this is where we rotate. And I just had a bigger appreciation for it.

00:24:25 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Good for you.

00:24:25 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 1:

But something happened, though. Yes.

00:24:27 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 2:

That got you to a point where you thought, I should not tell Ellie about this.

00:24:32 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

So we went fishing at one point. And this was big for me when I was a kid. So one thing I remember with my biological father is he took me fishing as a kid. and so I love to do it with my kids and so I took Milo fishing for the first time. He's never been interested he's only, he's going to be three in July and he caught his first fish. He did? Yeah, he was so excited he tried kissing it on the mouth like he was

00:25:00 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 2:

So, and, but that's that moment where it's like, it's his first fish. And we took a picture and I'm like, oh no, Allie wasn't here for that. And so if she misses moments like these, like I'm going to, I feel like she's going to just, you know, be super down and not want to go anywhere and not want to, you know, she's going to be upset because she misses milestone moment.

00:25:20 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 3:

And she'll never want to go on another girl's weekend again. Cause you might miss something.

00:25:23 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I didn't want to send it to her. I didn't want to text her. She's wanted pictures from the kids, you know, like doing stuff this weekend. And so I sent her a couple. I didn't want to bother her. So did you send it to her? I waited. I waited. I hesitated. I didn't want to. I felt like that, you know, wouldn't you guys be crushed or wouldn't you've been crushed?

00:25:40 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 3:

That's a big moment. But, you know, what's funny is I look at that as a moment that, you know, is a good dad and son moment. Yeah. But I will say this to you. It's a moment that I'm sure Allie would have loved to have been there. I mean, you know, I know that there's a lot of times where parents will be there for the first, you know, words that come out of their mouth. or the steps that you know happen and i know that there are some that you know feel bad about telling the other spouse that that happened and matter of fact there are some people that probably lied

00:26:09 - 00:26:25 | Speaker 2:

and and didn't yeah yeah i almost i mean i almost just i mean didn't tell her and then waited and we would have went fishing we're going camping in a couple weeks and then he would have caught a fish then and it would have been the first one and i almost just let it go but but but you can't do

00:26:25 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 3:

that because what's going to end up happening is he catches the fish on the trip that you guys are on and then he goes i like the other fish better you know what i mean cecily's gonna say something oh yeah you know i don't know 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 shannon you and i were both on the same wavelength that this was kind of a good dad son moment yeah um but there are gonna be so many

00:26:46 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 1:

like i think the biggies like the first steps and first words like that would crush me if i was not there for that this i'd be like okay that's that's really cool that that happened are there

00:26:55 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 3:

any people listening to the show whoever lied to their significant other about one of the big moments that it didn't you know they didn't tell their spouse that it happened with them and then tried to get them to reenact it and when you guys were all together as a family so they'd be there i missed first words i've missed first steps i've missed so much this morning show stuff of leaving so early because a lot of times it happens when they're happy in the morning you know i mean like early in the morning and i thank god that you know my wife uh has been able to be a stay-at-home mom and that you know we've been able to you know i found a career that was able to provide that for her but i also feel like i missed out on a lot of stuff but i'm happy she got to experience it you know and that it wasn't experienced you know by with like a babysitter or grandma or babysitter or daycare or something like that i wonder how many times daycare people

00:27:47 - 00:27:53 | Speaker 1:

have to lie oh i bet all the time i mean i give props to them for doing it because it means so

00:27:53 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 3:

much hey mojo in the morning hello lost you there what's uh what's going on uh kayla

00:28:01 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 4:

hi good morning good morning what's going on hi so actually my son's father and i split when he was around six months old so unfortunately there is a lot of firsts between the two of us that we don't get to share so that's kind of hard to accept and the biggest one was I actually wasn't around for his first step he's now almost two and that's still hard with me but I mean you got to kind of come to terms that there's going to be things that you're not around for but I mean he did say his first word around me so I'm like it equals out so your ex was your ex gentle with you and telling you this happened with him yeah he did send me a video and I was like okay so this happened um he's still a little wobbly so maybe he'll take his actual first steps with you oh

00:28:47 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 3:

that was really nice you got a good guy that's not where you got a good day okay that's good i would fear that the guy would hold it over your head and go look what i got what's going on nicole

00:28:57 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 5:

hi morning everybody good morning what's going on listen ali and mike they're so cute i was like my husband fishes all the time he can catch a whole school of fish. He don't have to kill me. It wouldn't bother me. It wouldn't bother me at all.

00:29:15 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 3:

You don't care about it.

00:29:16 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 5:

Heck no. Uh-uh.

00:29:18 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:29:18 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 5:

I got three kids. I'm away with my girls having a good time.

00:29:22 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 3:

That's true. Allie's out drinking and having fun with her girlfriend. She's not caring about the fish.

00:29:27 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 5:

She loves Mike, and she wanted her Mike feelings, but when he texted us, she was like, okay, he caught it.

00:29:35 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 3:

That's so true. That is true. I love it. That's probably right. What's up, Bree? How you doing?

00:29:43 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys this morning?

00:29:45 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 3:

We're doing okay. You missed out some big moments?

00:29:48 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So I had my son really young, and I ended up missing out on his first words, which was mama, because I was at school, and my dad ended up lying about it completely. completely. He was like, Oh no, he's not talking yet. The next day he said it. And it was great.

00:30:06 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 2:

And I never knew until my son was like, Oh, your grandpa is a hero. What a great guy for doing that. I like it. And then I like this too is, uh, I'm sorry. Who is this on the phone? God, I don't know. Nakisha. Oh, they didn't put a, uh, they didn't put a, uh, a separation in there it said I thought it was Nikisha Mai but it's my mom okay what happened Nikisha

00:30:31 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 3:

um my mom watched my daughters I started a new job working night and I guess my daughter started walking so she never told me then my dad came into town and took my daughter to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese and I was at work and got a video of my daughter walking at Chuck E. Cheese because my dad thought I knew.

00:30:54 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

00:30:55 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

00:30:57 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 2:

So mom was trying to protect you and dad didn't realize it. Uh-oh.

00:31:01 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And it was like I was happy and mad at all at once. It was like terrible great.

00:31:09 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? Maybe that's Chuck E. Cheese, the magic of Chuck E. Cheese. It makes everybody get up and walk. It's those terrifying robots. He was probably just trying to get away from them. Yeah, trying to run out. Chelsea's a daycare supervisor. And you guys lie, Chelsea?

00:31:23 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, we lie all the time. We work at a pretty high-end one where it's like almost $2,000 a month.

00:31:31 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:31:32 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 4:

I feel like it's an obligation to say, oh, they're getting really close. Like, tonight's the night when they were walking all day. Yeah.

00:31:41 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:31:41 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 4:

You know, walking all day.

00:31:43 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, that's what you pay for. You pay for the people that don't want to.

00:31:47 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 4:

You pay for the lie.

00:31:48 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, lie. Exactly. All right. Thanks for the call.

00:31:51 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 1:

Mike's Mojo in the Morning. You know, the only real man on the show. He can throw a football, change a tire, and light a campfire. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:32:00 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. So, the other night I was on Instagram and Facebook, and I was kind of like bored looking at, you know, what everybody's posting. And I started noticing somebody who I think you guys will know who the person is when I say this. And I mean that. I mean the people on the show. Maybe some of the people, too. Maybe our listeners, because I think she's on in Grand Rapids. And I started noticing that there is this radio personality out of Atlanta, but is nationally heard by the name of Shelby Sauce.

00:32:43 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 4:

I love Shelby.

00:32:44 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 2:

Who is very good with her social media game.

00:32:50 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 4:

And she's adorable.

00:32:52 - 00:33:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's just put it this way. I have no idea what Shelby sounds like on the radio, but I do know that she's adorable enough for me to actually like her on social media. That I saw her on social media and I'm like, oh, okay, I guess I'll follow her and see what she's all about.

00:33:07 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, I just fell.

00:33:09 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 2:

Right, exactly. You know, I got to keep up.

00:33:11 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 4:

Very honest there.

00:33:12 - 00:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Sure, sure. If my wife is listening right now, Chelsea, I have to keep up with what other people in the business are doing, okay? This is called networking, so to speak.

00:33:23 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 4:

Can we play some of her stuff?

00:33:24 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 2:

I got some stuff. Oh, you do? Well, in a second here. Do it, because I want to complain about somebody real quick. Okay. It's not Shelby. No, I'm not complaining about Shelby. So if you do know Shelby, and I've never had an opportunity to ever get to meet her or talk to her at all, so I know nothing about her other than where she is. She's based out of Atlanta. Well, I started looking at all of her pictures, And she posts a lot of these pictures that are with her, like, very attractive in the mirror. She's got, you know, her lips always looking perfect.

00:33:54 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 1:

She was just in a bikini. Where the heck did she go?

00:33:56 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was. Somewhere, I saw. Well, she's in a bikini in a couple of the photos. One of them, she was dressed like a cowboy in front of a mirror. Like, she's got all these photos, all right? And when I was looking at these photos, you notice right away who likes the photos. Because honestly I will not like those photos Can I tell you why I won't like those photos Shannon? I won't like The kind of thirsty photos Because I just don't want people going Mojo's an old creepy guy He's an old creepy radio guy

00:34:25 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 4:

That's having a lot of awareness

00:34:27 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 2:

I actually had this conversation One time with Elvis Elvis Duran And I said to him I like only The gay male Thirsty ones

00:34:39 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 1:

I can get away with it How did I miss this one?

00:34:42 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 2:

Is that unbelievable? It's very crazy. Whoa, okay. Okay, so I don't-

00:34:46 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 4:

I'm lost in her Instagram.

00:34:48 - 00:34:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't-

00:34:49 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 4:

Don't be lying. What? You were the like on that photo. Oh, I already liked it.

00:34:54 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't like it, though. I didn't like it, right? You didn't see me like it. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

00:35:00 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 1:

Tell my wife. Tell my wife, right? I didn't like it, right? No, you didn't. But I would like to list off all of the radio people that are thirst-driven. Well, I'm going to list one in particular who's a very good friend of mine, actually one of my best buddies in the world. I noticed that every like that she has is from Spencer Graves, who's like a brother to me. And I started to notice, I'm like, Spencer just likes every single one of Shelby Sauce's photos. And then I thought, oh, well, maybe he's just really active on social media and likes all of our photos so I go let me go back to my photos my last couple of photos that I've posted have been all about my children all right it's been the comparison photo of Luke when he was in kindergarten to his senior photo for high school uh Jacob his birthday prior to that there was a photo that I took like a monumental moment for me and Chelsea in our relationship Guess how many of those photos Spencer Graves liked

00:35:57 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 2:

How many?

00:35:58 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 1:

Zero point zero

00:36:01 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 2:

Well I don't see you wearing a cowboy hat No maybe you should

00:36:05 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 1:

So the only photos that he seems to have liked Are the photos of beautiful Shelby Sauce Not anything to do with his friend and brother From another mother Mojo Who in a second here we're going to announce something with Spencer Graves. But first, Spencer.

00:36:26 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 2:

I love beautiful women.

00:36:27 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, I can tell.

00:36:29 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 2:

I can tell you like. I like Shannon's pictures a ton.

00:36:35 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:36:35 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I think when people, like, I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to paint me in this place of life. You only like Shelby and all her, you know, thirst trap pictures. Honestly, I've known Shelby for a long time. She comes up in my algorithm all the time. I like everybody's stuff You don't pop up in my algorithm all the time

00:36:55 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 1:

Well how do I not pop up in your algorithm But yet you call me And we talk to each other all the time

00:37:01 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Because the Instagram people Don't know that you and I talk on the phone It's just when you put up content You don't put up a lot of content as yourself You put up a lot of content as Mojo in the morning

00:37:12 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 1:

But don't you ever search me To see what I'm doing So you can like some of my stuff Like just say like

00:37:18 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't seek you out Like, I don't sit there and go, let me just go see what Mojo's up to because I'll talk to you on the phone. I don't talk to Shelby on the phone. I don't talk to Shannon on the phone. Right. This is a very, very fair statement.

00:37:31 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

You're going to buy this. I do. I actually do.

00:37:34 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No. I do.

00:37:35 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 1:

If he cared about me.

00:37:38 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 2:

For the reason that he doesn't search out Mojo on Instagram, he just calls them.

00:37:42 - 00:37:42 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:37:42 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Spencer. It makes me feel like I need to do like a photo shoot or something.

00:37:47 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wait. I'll tell you right now, if you wore a cowboy hat or a bikini, hell yes. There's an idea there. I think there's a big idea here, Mike.

00:37:56 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 1:

It's unbelievable that this guy, I do know you listen to the podcast from time to time, right? You'll actually check out our podcast.

00:38:03 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because the last podcast I heard was something about Shannon's vagina, and I was like, well. Oh, there you go.

00:38:10 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

That's why we need to label all of the podcasts very racy so that I could get Spencer to actually like it. No offense to Shelby, because I know that she's great. I have no idea how great she is in radio. Her pictures look great, because I have not listened to her. But this is a guy, Spencer, who I've known for a long time, who I have recommended for jobs. I have, you know, stayed at my house. We've, you know, gone to Tigers games together. We've, you know, gone on vacations together. Like, what's the story here?

00:38:44 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

i am all in with you you're my boy you're the guy that i appreciate the most when it comes to radio and you've done a lot for me you don't pop up in my algorithm you don't post on social media as

00:38:57 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 1:

much as most people well i need to start posting a lot i do i and it's also our show post i look at our show page not really how come you don't you only like the i noticed this you only like the posts that shannon uh megan and kp are in you don't like any of the other ones you have not

00:39:15 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 2:

liked one with me i love i love shannon's post because i love seeing smith and lucy grow up i think those are two great kids i think she's doing a great those aren't even her kids they're props and honestly i celebrate women like shelby because they're crushing it in the business I think now more than ever, you know, women are on the front page. Like everything for women in radio is how talented are they as a personality. And the women that are in radio now, Megan included, Shannon included, everybody that's come through radio, women are so freaking talented when it comes to radio. And I celebrate that. I think it's. buying all this bs so i really no that was really nice of you seriously thank you okay spencer here's what you need to do you need to you need to pull like a creepo move and just go in like every single photo on mojo's page please okay oh no because you know what he'll

00:40:19 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 3:

do i'll like every picture and then he'll screenshot how many times i like the picture and he'll go, oh, he's just trying to make up for not liking my pictures before. This will carry on forever. I'm just telling him, Mojo, I love you. I think you're the greatest guy that I know on radio. You're a wonderful human being. You give people opportunities when they don't always expect them or need them. You are a great human being. Thank you.

00:40:42 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 1:

If you wore a cowboy hat and it was sort of like... Imagine what...

00:40:47 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 2:

This needs to happen now. This is the third time it was mentioned in this conversation.

00:40:50 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm getting a cowboy hat today. Real quick, a quick announcement from Spencer. Do you want to announce to everybody here in the room? But the listeners will get to know you a little bit more. Literally like my brother. If I had a brother that was in radio, this would be my brother.

00:41:05 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 3:

I can announce that I'm in Birmingham, Alabama doing a country show.

00:41:09 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:41:10 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 3:

And I can announce that there's talks of syndication. But I cannot announce where I'm going next.

00:41:18 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay. There's talks of him possibly being close to us somewhere. so that there's there's talks of him talks of him possibly being on a detroit radio station not ours okay so not that's good for you yes yeah awesome congratulations nine five five

00:41:47 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 3:

And then I started at 6 o'clock in the morning.

00:41:51 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 1:

Listen, with the way things are going, that might happen. You never know. Please don't even say that. Don't even do that kind of a joke.

00:41:57 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Cowboy pictures and lingerie, it's all coming to Detroit, baby.

00:42:00 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. We'll talk to you later, Spencer. All right. Love you guys. Bye, Spencer. Thank you. Thank you so much. See ya. Oh, my God. You know, it's like my sister, too, though. My sister, Pat. My sister, Pat, loves all of the other radio people that I follow and I'm friends with. stuff all the time too and i told her i said you're my sister not their sister she's so proud of you though you know i know she is but i told her i said don't don't like any spencer stuff anymore on the morning show you're home of the war of the roses the dirty on the 30 second date update throwback throw down and five lies tell your mom we've got it this morning here on the show and if you want to be on any part of this radio show you know you can always submit to us through text or you can shoot us a dm on instagram at mojo in the morning facebook mojo in the morning make sure you're checking us out on tiktok too uh good to have you guys here on 104.5 snx 92.5 kiss fm and channel 955 i want to uh just put somebody on the spot here right now if i can it's mojo in the morning show I found out that somebody on this show is hiding something from me I wish I would have done it on the beat with you but I didn't have it pulled up yet somebody on the show is hiding a relationship from me and I heard this from a couple of little sources that I have, from not the same sources that Shannon has for the Dirty on the 30, but some sources. And it's interesting because it got me thinking to myself, okay, we have to be full disclosure to our listeners, right? Don't we? Didn't we talk on the More Mojo podcast yesterday? It was a great podcast. The whole podcast yesterday was about getting personal and about being personal and how we have to tell the listeners things about what's going on in our lives and how sometimes it's gotten us into trouble. There's times and places. When do we do it? Go check out that podcast. You can go check it out, More Mojo Podcast. It's available on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts. Well, this particular person supposedly has been dating a boy. So it's not you, Mike. Okay. has been dating a boy and has not been telling us about this. Now, let's do by process of elimination. It's not Lydia because she's told us about gas station boy. It's not Shannon because she's told us about her fiancé Wes or Wesley if he's in a fancy setting. It's not Megan because she hates boys. Oh, no, no, no. Come on. It could have been Megan. But you're right, though. I think it's...

00:45:00 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 3:

It's KP. What's going on? Why are you not telling us?

00:45:04 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 1:

I love that he's mad he's not in the know.

00:45:06 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 3:

No, but why is it that we haven't – I'm not even so much upset about me. I'm thinking of the listeners that want to hear some dating stories or stories about the awkwardness of this. What's the story? What's going on? Who is this person? And do I need to hire a private investigator like I did when Shannon was dating her ex-husband?

00:45:26 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 4:

I am not telling you a single thing. Seriously. You're going to have to hire that private investigator because I, you know.

00:45:33 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 1:

Are you actually dating this guy? Because I know you've gone out on dates with him.

00:45:38 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm still not sure if I want to date him. We're not official. And that's why I'm not telling you anything. I understand. Because I don't know.

00:45:45 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 3:

But a lot of people aren't official. I mean, gosh, in the past, past members of the show used to talk about going on Bumble and Hinge and all the rest of that stuff. But why would you not just like say, hey, I went out with this guy. You don't even have to tell us the guy's name. You can actually just tell us a story about it. Why have we not heard any of that?

00:46:05 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, it's because I feel like he's kind of boring. I don't want to share with you. I'm right out and say that if he's listening.

00:46:14 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 3:

I guess somebody used to be dating. Yeah.

00:46:17 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was nice while it lasted.

00:46:18 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, honestly. I feel like I just wasn't feeling it and haven't brought it up since.

00:46:25 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 3:

I know, but isn't that a great conversation to have? How did you meet this guy? The boring guy?

00:46:30 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 4:

I met him through social media, and he, like, knew people that I knew.

00:46:35 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Like, he slid into your DMs? Yeah.

00:46:36 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 4:

That was the situation. And, like, don't get me wrong. Like, he's very hot. I've seen a picture of him. Very cute. But I just, you know, I'm just not in a place where I just don't feel it. I'm not going to put time into it. And, like, I've been, like, seeing him, and, like, we've been going out, but I just don't feel like it's it, you know?

00:46:54 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 2:

I have a question. Are you more of a personality guy, or are you more of a looks guy right now? Personality. Personality?

00:47:00 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 4:

I need someone that's going to make me laugh because I just, I don't know, like I really want to have like a goofy, funny time. And I just have a hard time finding guys like that. And like, yes, I mean, everybody has their like physical preferences, but having someone to have fun with and like just laugh. Like that's what I'm looking for. He ain't it. He's a plain bagel is what I call it.

00:47:22 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 3:

But this is the beauty of this. This conversation right here is great because the listeners can relate to this. Dating the hot person that's boring, and in some cases, it's actually kind of, I don't know, to me, it's kind of interesting. Like, how do you weigh that? Like, what would you rather? Would you rather date the fun ugly, or would you rather date, by the way, the fun ugly is the fugly, right?

00:47:50 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Well, the fun ugly is who I feel like girls end up going to in the end because they are, they go through the, I feel like every, and I could be wrong. You're correcting me if I'm wrong. Every girl goes through her hot guy face where she just dates hot guys for the looks, doesn't care who he is, doesn't care who his personality is. And then eventually down the road marries the attractive, you know, attractive, but not like super hot, but with a great personality.

00:48:16 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, I just feel like a guy who's super funny Automatically becomes hot to me Like I look at them and I'm attracted to them I agree with that Right, but how does this guy feel Maybe that he's interested in dating you And you just said all these not nice things Who cares Are you trying to get her back to stop talking about this, Megan? When in our life have we ever done anything to appease men? I am here for myself He knows what you do, right? Yes, that's another thing too It's just like I don't know if he likes that Did he say something to him?

00:48:46 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I just don't. He said you. He said don't talk about him. You talk about him.

00:48:50 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:48:50 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 3:

All right, so we're just going to call him. We're going to give him a name.

00:48:53 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 4:

We're going to call him?

00:48:53 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 3:

No, we're going to give him a name because we're not going to say his real name because he did not want to be talked about. So we'll just call him the ugly guy. All right? Oh, my God. No. No, because he's hot. He's a hot guy.

00:49:04 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 2:

Even Plain Bagel would have been better. Plain Bagel.

00:49:06 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 1:

We're going to call him Plain Bagel.

00:49:08 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 3:

Plain Bagel, Mike. Thank you. That's a good name. Plain Bagel.

00:49:11 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I will say this. I feel like When you start dating somebody And obviously I had to go through this when I started dating Wes It's a huge It's not going to work if you If they tell you they don't want to be talked about on the show Oh it's not going to work It's huge red flag because unfortunately That is like the It comes with the What's the phrase I'm looking for

00:49:35 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 4:

It comes with the territory

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 1:

It comes with the territory but it's like That's not the phrase

00:49:40 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 3:

No but here's honestly I'll equate this to you.

00:49:44 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 1:

It's part of the equation. You get it.

00:49:47 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 3:

If you're somebody that works in the service industry, say you're a bartender, and you're dating a guy that is a jealous guy that doesn't want other guys around you, that ain't going to work. That's like radio. The show If you're dating somebody That tells you right off the bat I don't want to be talked about I'm sorry That's like Even the good things

00:50:06 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 4:

Like he didn't want me to share About like you know anything And I'm like you know what That's just not going to work I want whoever I'm going to end up with To want to call in and say Yeah we did this This was so fun this past week And explain And tell that story But also I want to point out Like I don't know if this is going to sound good or bad I'm not like in a relationship I'm dating Meaning like I'm dating many people and, like, going out and seeing what I like and blah, blah, blah. And I've had multiple guys say, hey, I don't know if I feel comfortable with being talked about on the radio. So if anybody is listening thinks that they're a plain bagel.

00:50:40 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 1:

Because you just called them a plain bagel.

00:50:41 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 3:

No, no. Can I tell you why they don't want to be talked about on the radio? They got something to hide. They're hiding something. Maybe. I don't know. Because, honestly, and honestly, there's the opposite of that. If the person only wants to be talked about on the radio, then you've got to worry that the person's.

00:50:55 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's a weird thing. And that's why it's so hard even to bring up people because you're like, I don't even know if this person's talking to me because they're interested in me or because they're interested in getting a job at iHeartMedia. And that's been, like, a challenge lately.

00:51:08 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 3:

Or they want more followers on their social media or something. Real quick, let me grab a couple calls, and then let's get some more conversation here about the secret boyfriend known as the plain bagel. By the way, somebody just texted and said, I just want you to know, KP, I'm single, and I'm an everything bagel. Hey!

00:51:28 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

I love it.

00:51:29 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 3:

Michelle, what's going on? We're hearing about the secret boyfriend that KP's been hiding from me.

00:51:36 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Hi, KP. Good morning, everyone. I was just talking to Lydia. I texted in. And don't settle because my hall pass, I totally get it, is Seth Rogen. So go out. Get your Seth Rogen. He's out there. May not be the best-looking guy to other people, but you know what? He's funny. So go get him.

00:51:57 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 3:

But you know what, though? She's young. She's mid-20s. She can go out and have a couple different bagels before she settles down with one of her favorites. And I think it's okay to date hot and do that. But you can't date hot for a long time because hot sometimes doesn't give you much fun. But there are some hot people that are good, you know, nice people. Like Shannon's Wes is a bastard.

00:52:22 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 4:

Shannon's Wes is crazy, and I love it.

00:52:24 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 3:

Melinda, what's going on?

00:52:26 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 6:

hey so um i thought that i needed the opposite of myself you know like i'm the funny goofy so i thought you need serious do not do that because you know the looks fade but the personality always stays you know it's like the eyes the window of the eye yep yep good advice thank you jill what's

00:52:48 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 5:

happening it's mojo in the morning good morning i definitely have to agree with the last color It's, this is so relatable because guys are really boring and it really does, it is really the most effective guys that are so boring. I don't know if they think they have to be serious, but they just don't joke. It's so weird.

00:53:07 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 3:

You know, what's amazing is that we're learning that there's a lot of people that have dated or have found themselves with some of these guys that are just boring guys, you know?

00:53:19 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

And, uh, and then you need to double toast that plain bagel. and put some butter and cream cheese on it. Avocado spread. I can't have that, but yes. It wasn't a personal attack.

00:53:33 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 3:

Connor, what's going on?

00:53:35 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 8:

Not much. Just driving home from work right at the moment. Wanted to weigh in.

00:53:39 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, what kind of bagel are you?

00:53:41 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 8:

I'm the ugly bagel.

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Unknown:

No, come on.

00:53:44 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 3:

Are you the bagel?

00:53:46 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 1:

You're the Asiago cheese bagel. It's always messy and it never looks good. Oh, I like that.

00:53:51 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 8:

I'll take that one. Just wanted to weigh in And say that you can definitely find the everything bagel And the funny bagel I have one myself My boyfriend is definitely hot and funny as all hell

00:54:04 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 4:

Gay guys are the best I have a couple gay BFFs And I'm like I wish I could date you

00:54:10 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 8:

I get told that quite often actually

00:54:14 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 3:

You know what you need You need to do is you need to go out with KP And then set her up with some of your you know, friends that are not

00:54:22 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 8:

gay? Hey, look, I actually have a single buddy I work with who's looking right at the moment. Does he wear cowboy boots?

00:54:30 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 3:

What kind of bagel is he? Describe him and tell us what kind of bagel he is.

00:54:34 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 8:

I would definitely call him an everything bagel. He is funny as all hell. He's great to work with. Always has a smile on his face. Great attitude. What does he look like, though?

00:54:44 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 3:

You haven't gotten to that. Compare him to a celebrity.

00:54:46 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 8:

I mean, he goes... Celebrity? Oh, Jesus. Um, I couldn't even say.

00:54:53 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but he's good looking.

00:54:55 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 8:

He goes to the gym, he's nice and slender, like, I mean, I couldn't even.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

He's not an everything bagel. He's a blueberry bagel.

00:55:03 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 2:

He's a blueberry bagel. Okay, yeah, that'll work. All right, take care of yourself, okay? Have a good one. Mojo, what type of bagel would you be? Or what type of bagel do you consider yourself? I'm a gluten-free bagel.

00:55:17 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm one of those Ooty's gluten-free bagels. Real quick, can I just say something? This is a little radio lesson here for all those people. This is one of the best topics that you've come up with here on the show that you didn't come up with, but I came up with. You came up with this topic. You know why? Because now everybody kind of knows. And how awesome the line of KP saying he's a plain bagel was the best.

00:55:43 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 2:

That was a touchdown. So you need to come up with my topics every night from now on. All right, I'm going to come up with your topics.

00:55:48 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

Here's the deal.

00:55:48 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 2:

Not him complimenting me.

00:55:50 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to compliment myself here right now. Thank you very much. By the way, I think I am nominated again this year for the Radio Hall of Fame. I will see if I win it this time. I will take the picture. I just want you to know if it should happen, I would just like the Radio Hall of Fame to know this will be my audio clip that I will be playing for all of the people that have, you know, had an opportunity to listen.

00:56:19 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 2:

Producer KP loves country boys like a farmer loves his John Deere. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:56:25 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 3:

Majo in the morning I always try to find What could be The most relaxing Massage Or the creepiest music for me to talk over Whenever we have Our next guest in And I do it in a way to Bring production value to the show And every time I do it She gives me a look like Why do you need that? You don't need that with me I've been on your show numerous times Where you just talked like this and said, hey, Rebecca Rosen is here. But I feel like for some reason... Rebecca, do you ever get massages?

00:57:04 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 1:

All the time.

00:57:05 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you like music when a massage is going on?

00:57:08 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 1:

I actually do. It helps me stop thinking and chill.

00:57:12 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

See, it's funny. I don't like music like this. No? No. Mike, I like to listen to like... Give me like a slow song or something. If you play like an old Mariah Carey ballad or air supply or something. I'm like relaxed.

00:57:28 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 1:

Then I'm singing along in my head. Really?

00:57:30 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't want the words. I just want the zen feel. I need it. Rebecca Rosen is in with us this morning. I want to get right to it because she's got a bunch of people to go visit today. She's going to be making an appearance tonight. Or tomorrow night, excuse me. Tomorrow night, 7 till 9 o'clock at the Berman Center for Performing Arts in West Bloomfield, Michigan. You can get tickets by going to RebeccaRosen.com Click on events And there are tickets available right now I've been numerous times And I'm going to tell you this She's more amazing in person than she is Even on the radio Because when you go to this You have no idea All of a sudden, next thing you know You're sitting in a theater next to somebody And that person completely leaves Because your mom or dad who has passed Has suddenly come and sat there right next to you So it's really wild And congratulations on this new book. It's called What's Your Heaven? The Seven Lessons to Heal the Past and Live Fully Now. And I was talking to your trusted friend here, Carolyn, who told me, because I can't read, that this is your best book yet. She said to you, I actually talked to you. Didn't I talk to you right after you read it? You did. Literally, I called her up and she was like, write it. She just finished like the last page and said to me, she goes, I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. It actually, it moved me to listen or to read what you were writing. So did you write this during COVID?

00:58:58 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

I did. You know, this book is the biggest because it's the most universal. It's not just about talking to dead people, but it is all about we're all struggling. You know, during the pandemic, what I noticed is everyone is at this pivotal point in their life where they're over the BS, like they want to understand why do I keep struggling? why isn't this happening for me or why is this happening and it the book is really like taking a step back and recognizing we're in earth school we all have lessons we signed up to learn and so if you recognize you chose these lessons it takes you out of victim and it puts you into a more empowered place so that you can then rewrite the narrative wow and you can change your life. And so it's very empowering. And these are the seven fundamental lessons that spirits always come through. And I think one of the big ones is, is that you're not alone. You have a team of spirits surrounding you that are available to help make life easier. You know.

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

and less to get you out of the pain and the struggle.

01:00:04 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

One of my problems I always feel like and the reason why I've been going to therapy my whole life is things that were left unsaid or unsettled. And I go to a therapist every single week and I feel like I talk more about my mom who passed, my dad who passed, grandfathers and stuff. And I feel like honestly that you're right. this has been the craziest last couple a few years and there are more people looking for therapy

01:00:32 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 3:

there are more people in therapy and so and that is so good and now if you're listening to this right now spirit brought you to this there's a reason and so if you do nothing else just start talking to your loved ones who passed away talk to your guides ask them to bring you comfort give you signs that they're there deepens your faith and trust there really is a rhyme and a reason to the messiness of life and so it's pretty amazing and yeah you know what's amazing you

01:01:01 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 2:

know what honestly is to me therapeutic of talking to you and I've had you talk to my sisters in the past and that you a therapist or a professional psychiatrist whatever it might be they can give you things to work on you seem to give more than that you give answers of things that we don't we never could understand you know what i mean like i remember you had a you had a conversation a long conversation with my sister pat and there were things that you told her coming from my mom that we're basically telling pat it's time to get up on your feet and go you know and get things going and she needed that yeah because a therapist can tell that to you and you could just say oh that's just a bunch of psychological hubbub that you learned at a university exactly yeah well when

01:01:52 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 3:

I can deliver the goods in the sense, give you enough evidence that's real. Nobody else would know you, you, it gets your attention and you pay attention. And then you take the more universal messages, guidance seriously. And, you know, I always say one solid reading can be like 10 years of therapy. You cut to the chase, you get straight to it. And spirit always has your best interest at

01:02:16 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 2:

heart. They're going to help you. So here's the interesting thing. You have, you've been in here for less than five minutes, right? However long it took you to walk from outside. That microphone that you're on was perfectly clean when Megan was talking into it. Every time she comes in studio, no, whatever microphone that we have you on, and we've talked about this before, suddenly turns fuzzy or has like a little thing.

01:02:42 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

As soon as she sat down.

01:02:44 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 2:

And I always believe that it's these spirits that are all...

01:02:46 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 3:

It's the frequency. Is that what it is? Yeah, absolutely. They can stop messing with the microphone now

01:02:51 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy Alright so here's a story just so everybody kind of knows And this goes for everybody This goes for all of us in studio Especially the doubter over there Megan Who's just sitting there waiting for you to be done She's one of those people But here's the deal The nice thing about Megan is you know this Is that she is an equal opportunity Doubter on all of us

01:03:11 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 1:

It's just a non-stop doubt

01:03:14 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I mean Mike she's doubted you for how long

01:03:16 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 1:

Still does I don't think she's ever not doubted me

01:03:18 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 2:

So all of us that are here, including the people, we have some guests in the studio with us. We got Amanda, Tina. Is it KY or is that Kai? KY would be a very interesting name, wouldn't it? Okay, so we got a bunch of people here in the studio. But here's the thing. This could be Rebecca, if she just all of a sudden randomly starts talking about somebody, this could be her talking to somebody on the show's loved one. Are you feeling anything right now? Are you getting anything?

01:03:47 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, where do I start? There's so much. It's like a party in my head right now. Okay, so there is a Jack or Jackie, and it's over here. So Jack or Jackie for you.

01:04:00 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 2:

Who is that? Is that Amanda?

01:04:02 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 3:

This is Tina.

01:04:03 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Tina, okay.

01:04:04 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 3:

That would be Jacqueline. Jacqueline. My brother's girlfriend. Okay.

01:04:08 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Right in that microphone. Talk right in that microphone.

01:04:10 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, yes.

01:04:11 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 2:

Your loved one can hear you, but Bob and Canton cannot. Go ahead.

01:04:15 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, funny you should say Bob, because there's also a Bob who's a father figure. And Bob is who to you? Is my daughter's Uncle Bobby. Okay. And Uncle Bobby, were you close to him? He's watching over you. And so he has your back, and he's showing me his job is to make sure that you stay on the right track. And something about finishing school or going back to school, is that happening? Okay. Very proud of you. And something about don't lose your keys. I don't know if you always misplace your keys.

01:04:44 - 01:04:44 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:04:45 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay, and the tattoo. You just got a tattoo?

01:04:49 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. Come on. Did you talk to her in the hallway about tattoos? Let's get up here and talk to the microphone. You can't be standing there in the background. Again, you got to talk to the microphone. What happened?

01:05:00 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 1:

um yeah i happen to have a well behind my mom's back type of tattoo okay but you did not talk to

01:05:07 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 2:

rebecca i said it i said it she did not say this yeah so and your mom your mom passed my mom okay is she mary yes okay so your mom mary wants me to tell you how proud she is of you for taking care of you and that you took care of her in ways that she didn't get to thank you and she's talking about the may birthday who has a birthday right now coming up happy birthday and she's saying she looks after your daughter and that you don't need to worry about everyone and everything right now your work to do is take care of you because you're feeling unfulfilled or really off and that's what i was talking about sometimes we get stuck in our lives and we're like i don't understand why things aren't working out or flowing um your brother passed away i don't i don't know um he is there major drug alcohol issue with your brother yes okay they're concerned and what i see is that he's either passed on or he is just really checked out because what they're showing me is

01:06:08 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 3:

explain wait can i ask her real quick what explain what where's your brother at

01:06:11 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 1:

um he was getting help right now in rehab the last i've known i don't know i haven't talked

01:06:19 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 2:

to him in a couple weeks so he's probably alive but not in his body when i see this it's like he is not home okay and they're concerned about him now is jackie is that his girl yes she's the one showing me this right now and she's showing me he's gonna go off the rails again if he doesn't um take it seriously you know it's his choices are leading him down the wrong road and they're worried um you can't do anything other than pray for him it does help to send him that positive energy um and then your dad did he have lung problems yes okay your dad is showing me he's out of his body out of his pain and suffering um you and he are really close and he he's showing me ringing in your ears i don't know wow a lot that's your dad and it's a it's what we're saying about the microphones it's in frequency that comes around you and you're tuned in he just wants your attention um and he's telling you to take care of your do you have a lower back problem yes Do you go to a chiropractor? No. It's not going to get better unless somebody comes in and helps you, but you need to be able to feel good to finish the work you're here to do.

01:07:30 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 3:

Can I stop you for one second? Because listeners are listening to this going, oh, you've got a long list of things in front of you about this woman.

01:07:36 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 1:

She has nothing.

01:07:37 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 3:

I mean, are you believing this? Are you believing what's going on? Extremely.

01:07:42 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

Everything she's nailing on the head.

01:07:44 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yes. And you have never had an opportunity to meet Rebecca Rosen before?

01:07:48 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Never.

01:07:48 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 3:

This is unbelievable.

01:07:49 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 2:

all right okay your sister passed yes was it a health related issue my sister no okay why do i feel like nobody she's saying one two three it happened fast so that was cindy my niece okay that could have been cindy that's that's who it is and there was a lot of question marks around the passing yes and it happened so fast that she popped out of her body and she was not suffering at all okay it's almost like you're just kind of like confused and spinning but not hurting at all okay she needs to bring peace to that but cindy is showing me was she around 18 20 oh god i'm bad okay it's okay okay so do you know if it happened on the 18th 17th march 17 17th um she's showing

01:08:40 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 1:

me something but that's still in debate 17th there's there's some foul play here and it's

01:08:47 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 2:

tied to a male and i don't know if it's like a boyfriend or was there belief that there was foul

01:08:52 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 1:

play in her death we don't know it's still an open investigation really great this just happened

01:08:57 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 3:

oh my god so does this is the spirit telling you exactly what's going on they're showing me that

01:09:04 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 2:

there is suspicion and that is to be confirmed there should be and that you have had an intuition on this some do you have a sense that there's a male involved who knows more who's not coming forward i personally had a vision then i'm i'm here validating your vision so you had a vision

01:09:24 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 3:

that there was a man that did this to her and so you need to look into that you do because and i

01:09:31 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 2:

would push whoever's investigating to look at this more closely because otherwise they're gonna miss

01:09:37 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

it. Megan's over in the corner over there by the way what are you thinking Megan? Honestly no I want to know what you're thinking because honestly because I listen there are people I said this about Rebecca there are people that are like myself that have had moments with Rebecca there are people that are listening to this that are probably like oh my god I would love to talk to Rebecca. And then there are people like Megan.

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 4:

that are like, I don't believe any of this stuff. But how do you not believe a woman that is sitting there crying right now?

01:10:05 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 2:

No, I think it's more believable. I'm also of the thought process where I don't have anybody who I was super close to who has passed on. So I don't think I could possibly have any connections.

01:10:17 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 4:

Do you have anybody that is super close to that is alive?

01:10:20 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Not particularly, no.

01:10:23 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm just making sure. All right, now back to Rebecca Rosen. Go ahead, Ben.

01:10:26 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, just for the record, your maternal grandfather passed away? No? Did you call somebody Pop-Pop-Poo or Pop-Pop-Poo? Who's Pop-Poo?

01:10:38 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

Pop was my dad's father.

01:10:41 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 1:

That's who it is. He's rolling his eyes at you. And what he's showing me is he's going to make you believe. And he's showing me you be careful. It's something in the car and slamming on your brakes. I don't know if you almost hit something, or it's a wake-up call. Okay. I will note it. Do you smoke? No. Okay, did he?

01:11:01 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, man.

01:11:04 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one. That's a good one. Smoking weed, whatever it is.

01:11:09 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 4:

Smoking the reefer.

01:11:10 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 1:

He's showing me sitting with you. Do you do it in the car? No. Okay, he sits with you in the car. Okay. Okay, and he'll give you clear signs, but he's going to give you enough direct information evidence so that you start to believe okay okay i look forward to it i'll leave it there um so back to this what i'm supposed to tell you is that your sister is not very strong but she's in a good place so she's with your parents right now and is that her daughter the one we just connected the niece it's her it's um no it's a niece okay do we know my sister never hit children do we know

01:11:45 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 4:

chris or chrissy or christy is does anybody know who this is christine christine oh okay so um the

01:11:55 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 1:

charlie is coming forward and i heard that earlier is that for you okay so i i'm starting to move into should we have them switch places yeah go ahead can you step here and i know you're short of time so as soon as you need to go you tell them i'm just fascinated okay so um oh my gosh I have so much coming in right now.

01:12:16 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 4:

Rebecca Rosen in studio with us here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. I'll tell you where she's going to be tomorrow.

01:12:20 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 1:

So I'm supposed to tell you that, okay, your father is here, okay, and then there's a Charlie. Who is Charlie?

01:12:27 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 3:

Related to a friend, Tanya, that I lost.

01:12:29 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and Tanya is here, and that's your girlfriend. She's like a soul sister to you. Now, where does the butterfly connection come in? With Tanya. Tanya. That's her little wink to you to let you know when she's around. She's telling you she's sorry either she died too fast or there's no closure. correct correct and she's showing you you found out after the fact and that you were taken back

01:12:50 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 3:

like you had you lost touch with her for a while um about a half hour prior i talked to her we're

01:12:56 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 1:

supposed to meet and there was nothing after that okay so it's something about you should not feel guilty about her passing your dad is the reason you're here today he gave you a lot of signs in the car um do does he talk to you through like the radio like maybe this show all the time he's saying um you knew you had to be here um and he's saying to you what's with um the red bird

01:13:22 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 3:

the cardinal that was my uh great grandpa he always said he was going to come back as a cardinal

01:13:27 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 1:

when he passed okay he's watching over you too um and then i'm supposed to tell you um hold on

01:13:33 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 3:

so who's jr do you know who junior or jr is um my husband's dad was a junior okay he's here and

01:13:42 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 1:

he's talking about not okay with your husband your husband is either unkind unloving um he's been there's big issues here with your marriage do you get that 100 your dad and your father-in-law saying not okay and you need to set some clear boundaries with him and either work it out or walk away because he you deserve to be loved cherished and adored and he's being um abusive honestly what i see is mentally emotionally you get that i do 100 you deserve better and you need to claim that and his father your husband's father is taking responsibility like he created this mess he's behind the scenes trying to heal it this is my book it's about spirits who leave behind their their baggage it's transgenerational patterns passed down and what he's saying is i'm sorry i'm guilty but i'm gonna from behind the scenes try and make this right by trying to wake up my son so that he shows up and is more loving and kind wow it makes complete sense do you know tom is that's that's me that's my real name tom yes somebody up there is saying your name um your Your mother, are you the favorite child?

01:14:56 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

I was the baby, but my sister Pat would say she's the favorite child.

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 1:

I think your mother is showing me how much she loves you. And I'm seeing there was just a birthday or anniversary or something celebrated.

01:15:05 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:15:06 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 1:

And she's telling you something about the Cuban cigar. Who's the cigar speaker?

01:15:11 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to get cigars for Luke's graduation. Yeah.

01:15:14 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 1:

I see that as a celebration. That's the celebration that she's showing me the balloons. So it's like, congratulations. And no, your parents, both of them are in the background celebrating this milestone. I'm so proud of you and how you show up for your family. and you you give your family a good name and your dad is standing here showing me saluting you it means honor respect for um it's just again the legacy that you're carrying on and take the big trip are you guys going to like hawaii or did you just talk about this giant family trip um we've

01:15:49 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 2:

talked about a couple things but chelsea's taking luke on a big trip it's a big deal on a lot of

01:15:54 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 1:

levels but they're gonna it's safe to go and enjoy it that's what it's all about yeah um and your mom is showing me something about you not to eat sugar you're not eating sugar or don't well look at me i mean come on yeah um i just saw not eating something that would be dessert and hold on did you have a crazy dream about them just recently i did they're saying that was real It wasn't like your mind subconscious. It was a visitation.

01:16:25 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My dad was just in my dream with Luke graduating from school.

01:16:29 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And we're talking about the graduation. And they're saying we are still energetically one foot in this world celebrating all of it.

01:16:38 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome.

01:16:39 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's amazing.

01:16:41 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 2:

01:17:44 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 1:

That makes your mother very happy.

01:17:47 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

there it is right there hold on a second ready right there bye confirm i confirmed it there you are just bought your book i love you thank you i love you too so i'm gonna tell you guys something right now that my kids don't even know and actually some of my closest friends have no clue about and i never shared with you guys and i'm gonna share it with you and then i want to move on because i really don't want to get into it at all because i want to talk about the fact that somebody gave up my secret. I, over the course of six months or so, have been going to University of Michigan, to Michigan Medicine, and have been doing meetings about the possibility of doing bariatric surgery. Really? I've never in my life ever thought about this until my doctor, after I had my heart surgery a couple of years ago, had said to me, hey, I know you've lost weight. And I know that you kind of teeter a little bit, you know, where you put it back on and go back and forth. But I want you to look into this because he was really worried that too much of that was going to be even worse for me. So for the last, I don't know, six or seven months, I was going to University of Michigan and I was doing these, you know, meetings with caregivers, doctors, surgeons, even patients, people who have had the surgery or about to have the surgery and i'm going to tell you guys it was the weirdest thing ever and i don't know why this is the case because nobody should be ashamed if they ever want to do this um when i would walk into the office i would always look around to see if somebody was like a listener or anybody like that because you can you know exactly where you're going at the time that you're going into and it says bariatric center or whatever it does on the sign and um when i would walk out of the the the room i would always look around too and i don't know why i was like it it's kind of like the same thing that i was doing whenever i was going to the penthouse club on eight mile it's my wife watching me at this particular time but i don't want to i don't want to get into and involved in my decision on this because i decided that i wasn't going to do it okay after meeting with nutritionists and the doctors and all the rest i decided that i was really going to put the effort forward.

01:20:00 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 1:

to just try to eat a healthier lifestyle and to not do the surgery. And that's when, I don't know if you guys knew this, but remember I lost like 38 pounds on the pack up on Ideal You? That was at the start of it. I decided if I didn't start losing that weight, I was going to go get the surgery done. And honestly, I have friends of mine that have had the surgery and have been incredibly successful. And I think the surgery is actually a good thing. It just wasn't for you. I just don't think it was for me. And maybe who knows? Maybe one day it will be, but I don't think it is right now, and I'm still, you know, using Ideal U as a way to lose weight, and my goal is to lose another, like, 40 or 50 pounds and then try to maintain it for as long as I can for the rest of my life. Long story short now, I walked out of the bariatric center at U of M and ran into somebody that I knew very, very well. And when I ran into them, they were going to the U of M area to see a doctor right next door because they put your butt up to each other. And if you've ever been there, they have like a waiting room that's like, you know, hundreds of people could possibly be sitting in those waiting rooms. And when I bumped into him, I said, oh, my God, this is now the time that this is going to happen where somebody is going to see me doing this. And I told Chelsea I didn't want to talk about it on the air. Like I talk about everything on the air. You know that. And I didn't talk about this. i said to him do me a favor because i haven't made up the decision if i want to do this yet please do not tell anybody because the only person that really knows is my my wife and he had said absolutely no problem well i found out recently that the secret that i gave to him or the secret that he found out he has told at least three people that i know but they didn't but they didn't say anything because they didn't want me to know that I knew that they knew. Right.

01:21:46 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 3:

Right? Wait, so how did you know, how did you, this is so confusing, how did you find out that they knew? Long story short,

01:21:52 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 1:

I actually was talking and I said, I decided I was going to say something to some of my friends. Okay. And they said we already knew? And they said, you know what, we actually knew about this. And I go, how did you know about this? And then they kind of insinuated that it was him, which it was him because he was close. So I want to bring this up because I will say this to you. I'm not pissed at him because, you know what, I think it's good for me to talk about because I really do think that there are listeners that are, you know, battling and suffering from, you know, weight issues like I have suffered with my entire life. And I think it's this thing that we need to talk about more often instead of just making fun of ourselves about it. So I do think if you want to look into it, look into it. That's great. Or do, you know, a program like Ideal You. But I also want to talk about who have you told a secret to, and they told other people about it. And I want you to blow them up right now on the radio. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to talk about those blabbermouth sons of bitches that will tell everybody your secret. Because we all have secrets, and it's funny because we all have secret keepers. Like, my wife is a great secret keeper. Obviously, right. She would, you know, she wouldn't tell, you know, anybody, like, my secret. She didn't tell anybody about this. But then there are those people. Like, I wouldn't, I don't think I would tell my sister something. So, you know, I think.

01:23:17 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, there are definitely people in my life that I would trust to be vaults and others that I know not to say an absolute word to, like my mother.

01:23:28 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 4:

And speaking of 420, this is why you tell stoners your secrets. Because I forget every secret that's told to me.

01:23:34 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 1:

Are there any people that have ever burned you guys with secrets that you've given them? Because we all have secrets, but has anybody ever burned?

01:23:43 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 5:

What? You tell all of my secrets. How dare I? Every time I go, hey, I'm telling you guys this, but I don't want it on the air, within 48 hours, you bring it up on the show every time.

01:23:56 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 3:

I will say, if it's something super serious, he's a pretty damn good secret keeper. That's very, very true.

01:24:02 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 5:

But all of my little things, all of my little secrets in 24 hours, everybody knows about them.

01:24:08 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 1:

The only time that I do that is if it's involving a guy that you met or something like that.

01:24:13 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 5:

Correct. It'll be, don't say this, and then immediately, so I heard this. No. Shut up.

01:24:20 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Benzo, what's going on? Is your name really Benzo? Hello.

01:24:26 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 2:

Yes, sir.

01:24:26 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 1:

How you doing? Great. How about yourself? Good. Who was the person that gave up your secret? You can just say who they were to you.

01:24:35 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

It was my sister.

01:24:36 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. And what was the secret?

01:24:38 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 2:

What was the secret? Oh, well, she told a secret, but then it turned out to be a lie. She said I had a box full of narcotics, heavy narcotics, and then it was just a box full of weed, and I never even smoked it.

01:24:49 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 1:

And who did she tell? She didn't tell the police?

01:24:53 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

No, she told my best friends that, and they were scared to open the box, and I said,

01:25:00 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 5:

it's easy she's like no you need a key and you need a code i said no and i just turned the dial

01:25:05 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 2:

and it opened and there was you know a half ounce of sticky icky icky wow so your sister would not be somebody that you would ever think would give up your secret like i joked about aunt pat sometimes i would worry about pat but is did she think she did it to be malicious or do you think she

01:25:23 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 5:

just did it because she was worried about you oh she did it because she's my sister and she's It's only, you know, a $3 bill. Yeah, okay.

01:25:31 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:25:32 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right. Whatever. I think everybody's got a sibling or a relative that is the gossiper. Everybody does. Yeah. Every single person does.

01:25:40 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 1:

Yes. It's like if I want people to, if I want to get the word out quick, I tell my mom and my cousin Renee. Everybody in the family knows within like 40 minutes.

01:25:50 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 2:

Is cousin Renee?

01:25:51 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 1:

Cousin Russ's sister.

01:25:52 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 2:

Is it? Oh, geez.

01:25:54 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way. But she's very normal and lovely.

01:25:56 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Cousin Russ just came up on my Facebook as people I should be friends with on Facebook. And I didn't realize his profile picture is him sitting in front of the Mojo in the Morning Show microphones in the studio.

01:26:07 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, is it?

01:26:07 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Isn't that the greatest? Poncho. Good morning, good morning, good morning. Good morning. Poncho, who is it that you should never tell a secret to?

01:26:18 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 6:

My mother.

01:26:20 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 2:

Really? Did she ever burn you on a secret you gave her?

01:26:22 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 6:

well at the time i you know as i'm out now but at the time i was not i just broke up with my ex from high school my girl girlfriend at the time and i told her why and she ended up telling all

01:26:35 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 9:

of her friends and most people that she's no oh no no that is actually so awful i'm glad at least

01:26:43 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 6:

none of those people she told were friends with my family wow yeah your own mom i mean

01:26:49 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 2:

was it tough for you to ever trust her ever again or do you not trust her oh no i still trust her

01:26:56 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah she learned her lesson with that instance

01:26:59 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 2:

it's 4 20 wait why'd you laugh what just happened there just remember that that randomly it just comes out of people on this day okay um can i uh can i tell you that when jacob uh came out to chelsea and i it was one of the questions that chelsea right away said to him Are you okay with us telling other people And letting people know And we were very respectful about that Because we didn't want our son To feel like he couldn't trust us Because he told his brothers

01:27:30 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, they were great secret keepers for a long time

01:27:33 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Joe and Luke, man It made me so proud to know that My boys have that big of a bond Ashley, what's going on?

01:27:41 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 9:

Hi, first time calling here I've been looking to you Hey

01:27:44 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 3:

Hey, who's the bad secret keeper?

01:27:50 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, so when I was 16 years old, I had sex with my boyfriend for the very first time. And being young, I thought that I can trust writing it in my journal. That was not the case. My dad found my journal and proceeded to tell my very religious stepmom. And then that weekend, I had to get baptized. Oh.

01:28:11 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wow. That's awful.

01:28:13 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God. It was not a very good situation, but jokes on them, I've been dating him for eight years now, so.

01:28:23 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 2:

It's tough because you think that your parent is going to be there and stick up for you. What's going on, Amanda? Who was it that is the bad secret keeper?

01:28:31 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, you guys. My best friend, I wanted to hunt her down. She told my whole TikTok lie that I was going to go see my girlfriend for the first time. she blabbered out the secret and i love her to death however it was not a fun situation for me when i had people on my tiktok live watching it was great loved it yeah outing somebody

01:28:53 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

is one thing but outing somebody on tiktok is another what's up maddie hey so me and my sister

01:29:03 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 8:

have this little game we play with my parents because they are the worst secret keepers where one of us will talk to one of our parents on the phone. They're divorced. And we'll say something horrible about the other sister. Just the meanest things to see if our parent will go back to that other sister. This is so good. 100% of the time. 100% they will go back.

01:29:25 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 4:

You know how many times I've done this? I've done this with my mom and made up just completely fabricated a story. And I'm like, let's just see where it goes. Like Thanksgiving is the greatest. What's the best story you told?

01:29:36 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 8:

and it came back um that's hard to say it's usually um just that my sister was mean to my child it's usually to my child because we have 12 year old daughters same age um just just off the wall things just like random tiny little secrets just to see if our parents will blow them up and they always do

01:29:59 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Who's the big?

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 5:

Bigger blabbermouth, mom or dad?

01:30:03 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 1:

Dad.

01:30:03 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Dad, you would think that it would be mom, but dad is the worst.

01:30:07 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Guys love gossip. They try to pretend like they don't, but they are big gossipers.

01:30:12 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 5:

How dare you? Lisa, voice disguised.

01:30:17 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I was having an affair, which is definitely totally wrong, But a lot of my close friends I worked with, and she decided to tell everyone, including my boss and my boyfriend. And it was just a hot mess for a very long time.

01:30:39 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. So you were having an affair on your husband?

01:30:43 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, fiancé.

01:30:44 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 5:

Fiancé. And your best friend knew about it and told everybody?

01:30:49 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:30:50 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 5:

Did she tell your fiancé?

01:30:52 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and told him details, like specific details of everything.

01:30:58 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 5:

Here's the question. Is that something, you know, like is she doing it because she wanted to make sure that he was up?

01:31:04 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 3:

I feel like this is a totally different topic. Like this would take it in a totally different direction.

01:31:09 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 5:

Like is it?

01:31:09 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:31:10 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 5:

I mean, the question is, was she doing it for the right reasons by telling because you were not doing your affair for the right reasons?

01:31:18 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 4:

no i believe because i was also her um supervisor at the time and i feel that i wasn't i switched positions in the company and i wasn't benefiting her in any way and

01:31:32 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 5:

so she was using it yeah she was using it as a way to get back interesting wow well thank you for the call i appreciate it and of course we do wore the roses to bust people like this If any friends know of any other friends that are having an affair, you'll have to call us up. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So yesterday, Shannon did something that she mentioned to us before the show that I think can be a really good topic. The topic is, how quick was the quickie?

01:32:30 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 3:

The quickiest quickie is what I said to you guys. So Wes and I do not live together yet. Wes is my fiancé, and we are waiting to live together until we get married, which is I don't know when. we're kind of in the process of trying to figure that out. So this week, crazy busy for me. It's also crazy busy for Wes. And so when this happens, since we are not living under the same roof, we try to be really intentional about finding like little, you know, little moments of time to at least see each other. So yesterday I had a therapy appointment out in Rochester. We are very pro therapy on the show. And that therapist's office was about eight minutes away from his new place. And after therapy, I had about 40 minutes to get back to pick up my son, Smith, from school. So that left us with, like, 12 minutes to bake some cookies. After what again? After therapy and before picking up my son from school. So I texted him and I said, we are going to make this happen. I literally ran. I parked my car. I ran into his house. there was a pack of gum open for me on the stairs because I told him I needed to brush my teeth and he said we do not have time for that so he had the gum there open and ready for me to go I walked through that bedroom door and he was he was ready we made it happen

01:33:56 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 5:

he was laying on the bed waiting for you

01:33:59 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 2:

we were proud of us I have a question what about therapy just turned you on what was said Well, I was talking a lot about it in therapy.

01:34:11 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't know. You know, you just do with the time that you got.

01:34:17 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 5:

I have a question.

01:34:18 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 3:

Something happens.

01:34:19 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 5:

12 minutes is a quickie? That seems like a long time.

01:34:22 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no.

01:34:23 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 3:

You're misunderstanding. I had 12 minutes. We had 12 minutes of, I'm talking from me parking the car to me getting back in my car.

01:34:31 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

01:34:31 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 3:

So that was the allotted time that we were working with.

01:34:35 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. You got it? 12 minutes, okay, so, okay, all right, now I understand it. Because I was going to say 12 minutes, you know what, I hate that Wes guy if he's, 12 minutes, I want to know what his secret is, right?

01:34:49 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

That's going to be real quick.

01:34:49 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what'd you do with the other seven minutes? All right, so 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

01:34:56 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 3:

Tell us about your quickiest quickie.

01:34:58 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 5:

I don't want it to become a situation.

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 2:

though, where you tell us, like, what you guys did, but what I wanted to do was, where were you, what was going on before, and what was going on after that you needed to make it a quickie?

01:35:12 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 3:

And maybe you didn't even get to do it in a bedroom. Like, ours was quite legitimate, because it was at his house.

01:35:19 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 2:

And he even left you gum on a pillow or something. On the stairs. That's amazing, by the way.

01:35:25 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 3:

That's like... He did not want to waste the two minutes it was going to take me to brush my teeth. So the gum, the gum was imperative. Are you, do you have an electric toothbrush there? Do you have to do? No, I have a toothbrush there. Tops, bottoms, backs and fourths and stuff like that. Wait for the beep to switch sides. Um, it's funny because I always

01:35:43 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 2:

feel like, you know, in no joking about just the quickiness, but I always feel like the younger your kids are, the more your quickiness has to be. And I bet you that this is a thing in Mike and Ali's relationship because you got to figure out that time because the kids could wake up at any moment

01:36:01 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 1:

right oh yeah absolutely we have I mean we've done it quick in almost I don't want to say every room in the house because not their bedrooms but we've had to because you don't know when you're going to hear right and somebody's either knocking at the door or running towards the room we now have we can sense it like Spider-Man we can sense if a kid's getting up and which kid's getting up to the point where we can stop, but we've had to do some quickies.

01:36:25 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm always a big believer that you never fix the squeaky in the floor because you want the squeaky in the floor to be your alarm system. What's going on, Trent?

01:36:35 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 6:

Nothing much about yourself, Mojo.

01:36:36 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 2:

Everything's good, man. What was going on before?

01:36:40 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 6:

We were trying to put down our, he's seven now, but at the time he was four or five, but we were trying to put him down for a nap.

01:36:48 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 2:

And so you guys decided after you put him down for the nap that you were going to try to get a moment, right?

01:36:54 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we had literally, I mean, we thought we had an hour, like two hours, but honestly, it was probably like three minutes before you woke up and almost caught us, I should say.

01:37:06 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So three minutes was your quickie of quickies. That's actually a quickie right there. Is it enjoyable for both?

01:37:15 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 7:

Was it enjoyable? Yeah, it was enjoyable. I mean, I can say it was for me. I don't know about it. That's what it is.

01:37:21 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 2:

Jordan, what's going on?

01:37:24 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 8:

Hey, how's it going? Long time listener. Thank you, man.

01:37:27 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate you. And a quickie that happened when you guys were planning a Walmart trip. Is that right?

01:37:35 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, we were already like grocery shopping. And the girl I was seeing at the time was like, hey, you want to do something like fun really quick? So we did right in the Walmart dressing room. But the funny thing after is we got caught.

01:37:52 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Wait, by the old guy or old lady that stands in the front of the store and kind of says hello to you?

01:37:59 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 8:

The old lady who was running, like, the dressing room area. What did she say? Nothing until after we were done. She was kind of polite enough. She was like, I didn't want to bother you guys.

01:38:12 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you. Oh, God. That's so polite. That is so nice. Yeah. Yeah. It's kind that you didn't call the police on you guys. What's up, AJ?

01:38:21 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, good morning.

01:38:22 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. We're talking about quickies. How quick was the quickie?

01:38:27 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 5:

I would at least have to say less than 10 minutes. We pulled over at one of those McDonald's gas station truck stop things. Yes. And she surprised me with, let's go over to the parking lot. So we pulled over to the hotel parking lot and threw a couple articles of clothing up where the visors go to try and hide as much as we could, and that's where the shindig happened.

01:38:49 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Did anybody try to park next to you guys while you guys were doing it?

01:38:53 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 5:

No, but there was some people that walked in front of the car, and there was that gap between the two front seats, and I promise you I made eye contact with the car.

01:39:03 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 2:

I love it. You go for it.

01:39:05 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 5:

The car is a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'.

01:39:07 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Exactly. I like it. Lisa, what's happening?

01:39:12 - 01:39:12 | Unknown:

Hello.

01:39:12 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe... Turn your radio down, because I want to fully be able to shame you for this.

01:39:18 - 01:39:18 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:39:19 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

Lisa had a quickie after her daughter's birthday party.

01:39:26 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. As the kids are leaving, we were on the back porch. It was raining, and we just did it.

01:39:31 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 3:

You still had children in your home.

01:39:34 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 4:

They were leaving out the front door. We had the back door.

01:39:37 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

01:39:38 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yeah.

01:39:39 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 4:

And then it was the... If you know what I'm saying.

01:39:42 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's that? Say that last line.

01:39:45 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 4:

This other time we were in Vegas and we kind of got kicked out because as we were done, he was standing at the sink and I was finished, you know.

01:39:52 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. Yes. All right. Well, listen, let's go back to the birthday party. Let's go back to the birthday party because the Vegas ones, anytime in Vegas, you're. always dirty anyway. What was the theme of your daughter's birthday party? Mickey Mouse. Minnie

01:40:05 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

Mouse. Minnie Mouse. I'm sorry. So we're talking little kids. And you had the decorations still

01:40:10 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 2:

up? Yeah. You know you're going to hell. Actually, I'm sorry. Your kids are going to therapy. You're going to hell. In Disney World. Tom, voice disguise. Tom. Hey, good morning. How you doing good tom what's going on let's let's hear yours so i'm married and we got separated

01:40:33 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 3:

and we're kind of working things back out and we met at her friend's house uh for the weekend and her friend was there with her boyfriend and their kids so we ended up going into the bathroom and we were there for like a minute minute and a half okay tom you're at a friend's house and

01:40:51 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 2:

you did it at a friend's house have you guys ever done it at a friend's house like that while The friends were all there?

01:40:56 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 3:

Yes. No.

01:40:59 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 2:

You do? No. Yeah. Yes.

01:41:02 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 3:

That was the first time.

01:41:03 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 2:

That was the first. I know. I know that was your first time, but I'm asking. So, Mike, you've done that with Allie? Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not in a minute. I wish I could. I mean, who am I kidding? It's about two minutes, but yeah, yeah. I've done it. Megan, you said yes? Yeah. At a New Year's Eve party as the ball was dropping. Hey, you know what I'm saying? Hey, that's what she said. Wow. Yeah, I make poor decisions. How about this one? Jessica.

01:41:30 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:41:31 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 2:

We're talking about...

01:41:32 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 1:

I feel guilty now, but at the time, I didn't.

01:41:37 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 2:

We're talking about the quickies here because it got brought up because Shannon had a quickie yesterday. Where did you do your quickie?

01:41:46 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 1:

So, I hate to fly. I'm a very nervous flyer. So, we had a little wine before our flight, and we went in the family bathroom.

01:41:55 - 01:41:55 | Unknown:

Nice.

01:41:57 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 1:

I know we aren't the first or the last to do it, but that's where we did it.

01:42:01 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 2:

You weren't worried at all that your flight was going to start boarding while you guys were doing your thing?

01:42:08 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I'd hate to fly that much that I wouldn't have cared if we missed it. So I wasn't upset about it at all.

01:42:14 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 2:

So it was your way up.

01:42:15 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

I did get a little.

01:42:16 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:42:18 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 1:

After it, we had more wine. And when I went to get up to get on the plane, I actually fell. That's how drunk I was. Oh, God. So we were worried I wouldn't even get on the plane.

01:42:27 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they wouldn't allow you. It was fine. That's amazing.

01:42:30 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 1:

All's well that ends well.

01:42:31 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Were you flying Delta? Was it one of those family bathrooms in that Delta terminal?

01:42:35 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 1:

You would wish, but no. We were flying Spirit of the Chiefs. Oh, yeah. They're all doing it in bathrooms. Yeah.

01:42:44 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. You're not as bad, though, as the birthday mom or this one. This might be the worst of them all. Alias Matt, are you there? Yeah. Matt, where did you have a quickie?

01:42:57 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 4:

After my friend's mom's funeral at the party afterwards in the basement.

01:43:02 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, in a funeral home basement?

01:43:05 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 4:

Where they embalm the bodies? No, we were at home at their house at the party.

01:43:10 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the party. Like where everybody gathers together to like remember the dead. You know she was watching you from heaven. Yeah, yeah. You don't seem like It doesn't seem like it affects you at all You're okay with that

01:43:26 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah because all the people there Know about it and I get chased about it All the time

01:43:32 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 2:

Perfect scenario you have sex and then you get those tiny Sandwiches afterwards That's a good question I asked what the birthday theme was What was the food they served at the after party

01:43:44 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 4:

Um I went in to get Some food and her girlfriend's top kind of fell off and she grabbed my hand and took me

01:43:53 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 2:

downstairs. Oh, wait a second. It was while you were getting food. Who would have thought this? So she was not somebody that you were in a relationship with?

01:44:02 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't know her that well at all.

01:44:05 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

Matt picked somebody up at the funeral. What a place to meet. That's great. Well, God bless you, Matt.

01:44:12 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 4:

It was the killer Kool-Aid. What?

01:44:17 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Say that again.

01:44:19 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 4:

Killer Kool-Aid. Fill up the recipe and make it. It's good.

01:44:24 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so you were drunk. Can I take you off voice disguise? Because your voice disguiser is so tough because you got like a cigarette voice.

01:44:31 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no, no.

01:44:32 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 2:

I can't? Do you smoke cigarettes? Because you got a cigarette voice and it doesn't work on voice disguiser.

01:44:38 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I do. Yeah.

01:44:40 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm listening going, okay. I can't I can't talk right now Because I got the cigarette voice going on And I'm like it doesn't work on the I miss Alright well thank you for the call Take care of yourself Alright bye

01:45:00 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 1:

We do it on Mondays, usually after the weekend, but it's a lot of times that the dates happen prior to the weekend, like during the week, and there's nothing worse than when you spend time with someone that you think might be a good relationship for you to be in, and then they completely go dark on you. They ghost you. So this morning on the show, we're going to find out exactly what happened. We've got Parker, who is on the phone with us right now, And, Parker, is it you that's not getting a call back? Yeah.

01:45:35 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 4:

So, Ashley, I took a call, Ashley, out, and we ended up back at my place. We hooked up a little bit, and then I thought, okay, well, I'll go out for a second date, and I'll be able to close the deal, and nothing. Not a text back, not a phone call, just, I mean, ghost city.

01:45:52 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 1:

How old are you, Parker?

01:45:54 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 4:

I am 27.

01:45:56 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 1:

So, 27 years old. You live on your own or you live with your parents?

01:46:01 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 4:

I live on my own. I have my own apartment.

01:46:02 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And how did you guys meet?

01:46:06 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 4:

Tender.

01:46:07 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So when you say she's ghosting you, completely ghosting you, did you guys go away that night that you guys hung out with each other with the expectation that she was going to call you back or you were going to call her back?

01:46:21 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It kind of had that vibe of like, yeah, we're going to talk to each other again and we're going to go out again. I mean, we hooked up for a little bit.

01:46:26 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 1:

When you say you hooked up, obviously you can't give me the full details. Just kissing and stuff like that, or did you guys have...

01:46:33 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, you know, it was... Heavy petty. It wasn't full sex.

01:46:39 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 1:

So you didn't have intercourse, but you guys did... You were naked from the waist down at some point? Yes. Okay, all right. So you guys left with the expectation that you were going to talk again. You called her? Yes. You texted her? I've called like twice

01:46:57 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 4:

And I mean in the short time I've texted three or four times At a certain point I'm like okay I get it

01:47:02 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 1:

What have the messages been that you've been leaving?

01:47:05 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 4:

Well you're just sort of I had a great time I can't wait to see you again And then like I waited like a day and a half Two days you know trying to be cool And then nothing And then you know the last one I've done was just like a hey And nothing

01:47:17 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 1:

Nothing after that Are you noticing when you're looking at her social media That she seems like she's active Like, has she posted anything since your guys' date, or has she been kind of...

01:47:26 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, because I keep track of her IG, and, I mean, I'm still seeing her posting stuff, so clearly she's looking at her phone.

01:47:33 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 1:

So she's seeing what you're sending. She's just not interested in getting in touch with you. Yeah. Ashley is on the phone with us right now. Ashley, are you okay with your voice on the air with Mojo in the Morning?

01:47:46 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sure.

01:47:47 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Ashley, will you say hello to Parker, because he can hear you right now.

01:47:51 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 5:

Hi Parker Hey stranger Hi

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 4:

How's it going?

01:48:00 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 5:

Good How about you?

01:48:03 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Well I guess I'm just going to ask you What happened? I don't understand I thought we had a great night

01:48:10 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 1:

Have you been getting any messages at all From Parker? Have you noticed that he's called you Or he's texted you and left messages?

01:48:18 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 5:

Yes I receive those messages. And you're not responding. Why? Um, well, we ended up going back to his place and fooling around a bit, and I noticed that he had some bumps down there, so I was worried that he had an SPD, and I'm just not interested.

01:48:47 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 4:

Wait, like bumps? Wait, no, like razor bumps? I manscaped. Is that what you think? Do you think my razor bumps were an STD? I mean, I get one, I get tested for two. Did you really think my razor bumps were an STD?

01:49:02 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I know what razor bumps are and what they look like, and I'm not sure that's what that was.

01:49:08 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying you can clearly see in the dark that these razor bumps are different than any other? No, it's ridiculous. I have a razor bump. I don't have an STD. It's ridiculous.

01:49:17 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, because obviously I don't want to put anybody's business out there. Do you know for a fact that you don't have an STD? Do you get tested?

01:49:24 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I get tested very frequently.

01:49:26 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:49:26 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 4:

You got to be.

01:49:28 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 1:

So, so. Oh, gosh.

01:49:30 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 5:

I'm all for being safe, but I don't feel like that's a brag.

01:49:36 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Ashley, can you describe what these bumps look like?

01:49:42 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I know what razor burn looks like. I obviously shaved my legs. I've had razor burn. They did not look like razor burn. They were a long jeweler. And I just don't feel comfortable believing that.

01:49:56 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

It's 100% razor burn. I don't really have to expedite.

01:50:00 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 6:

I mean, this is so incredibly awkward, and I don't really know what to say. I totally get where she's coming from, that she...

01:50:10 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:50:10 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 6:

I don't even know, then, that you have, like, a conversation would be awkward.

01:50:16 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 3:

You should have just said something then. You should have been like, what are these bumps? And I would have been like, hey, it's razor bumps.

01:50:21 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 1:

Did you wonder why she kind of stopped short, though, of wanting to do anything else? Or did you guys plan on only doing...

01:50:29 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just kind of assumed maybe she just didn't want to go all the way that suddenly. You know, that soon, like, I mean, that's what my thought was. I didn't realize it was because of my razor bolts.

01:50:39 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 1:

What exactly did you guys, and I'm not asking what did you, sex acts, did you guys do, but what exactly when you noticed those, did you say at that moment, or did you just quickly just end everything and say, I'm not up for this tonight?

01:50:58 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I just kind of ended it. I didn't know how to have a conversation like that, obviously. So it just ended and I left.

01:51:09 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, it's a very embarrassing situation, obviously, for Parker, but safety is the first and foremost thing that Ashley's got to be thinking about. I'm just surprised though that you wouldn't have a conversation with him and say, hey, real quick, I want to know what this is. Were you too embarrassed to say that to him?

01:51:26 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 2:

I was much too embarrassed to say that.

01:51:30 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? Melissa wants to comment on this. Second date update. Melissa, what's up?

01:51:34 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning, guys. I just wanted to say that I kind of believe him. Guys, when they shave, their hair is thicker than ours. So sometimes their razor burns, like their bumps are bigger than ours. And it's not just like a red patch. Like, it's different. My husband shaved, and he had the same.

01:51:52 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 1:

So he does get those little bumps there.

01:51:55 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I try to put lotion and everything down, but I mean, sometimes you get razor burns.

01:51:59 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 1:

Why do you get all... Listen, we talk about girls putting a lotion in itself.

01:52:03 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, I feel bad.

01:52:05 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:52:05 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 6:

I feel bad for him that this is like out there.

01:52:08 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 1:

He'd be accused of having a... Yeah. What's up, Cindy?

01:52:12 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah. So did she think by going home and not calling him, it would have prevented the STD that she already thought she got by messing around with him?

01:52:21 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Like, did you... That's actually a good question. Did I miss that? Did you notice this before or after you did whatever?

01:52:27 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 1:

She noticed it, right? She stopped short of doing anything else because of that.

01:52:32 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I thought she said we messed around.

01:52:33 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 1:

She said they messed around, but you did not have intercourse with them, but you guys did do other things.

01:52:42 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 4:

Correct.

01:52:43 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:52:44 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, I mean, other things caused us to do too.

01:52:47 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 1:

Right. Well, no, you're right. So that didn't worry you enough to be able to say anything to him? Like, hey, I'm a little worried by that. Oh, she hung up the phone. Is that her or is that Parker? No, she actually hung up the phone. Parker's still there. Parker?

01:53:07 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 3:

She hung up? Wow, she's ghosting. Okay.

01:53:10 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think that she got called out there by the last caller for that, which seems like it's a very adult thing, you know, but it's something that you guys got to do. If you're going to be playing, you got to know that. Paul, last comment from Paul on this one. Yo, this lady's dumb as hell.

01:53:29 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 3:

She's obviously never seen an ingrown hair. Like, when you shave, it happens. She wanted to be safe.

01:53:36 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 6:

Yes, but she wanted to be... We don't know exactly what this looked like.

01:53:41 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I get it. I get that she was freaked out by it. All she had to do was just bring it up. Instead of just ignoring it, leaving it, just making me feel, you know, not endorsing me. Like, it's ridiculous.

01:53:54 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I don't know you, Parker, but the one thing that i i would say though if i was uh you know you with her is maybe you know if you have been tested just you know send her a note just kind of proving it just so she knows that she's safe and then understand in the uh in the future and this is for everybody that's listening to us if you're gonna have sex be on you got to talk listen if you're if you're talking enough to be able to ask what your favorite freaking drink have a conversation about what you know about your your oh did parker hang up too is that you parker or who was it oh parker's still there okay that was that guy that i just talked to just i mean have a conversation about this i feel like we're having i feel like i'm having to do the sex talk again with my kids parker you want me to have a sex talk with you man i would have loved to have been a fly on the wall i think i could manage i think i could are you sure it was very good i had pictures and everything flow charts all that stuff i did i powerpoint presentationed my sex talk with my kids all right parker listen i gotta uh i gotta go i'm gonna move on And she's not answering the phone So she's not going to pick up the call from us right now Who knows if she'll pick up from you Hey, breakups are rough But ever leave your to-go box at the restaurant? Yeah, I get it

01:55:15 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning

01:55:16 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 1:

If you're weird, crazy, sometimes stupid and clingy You're just like us This is Mojo in the Morning It's Mojo in the Morning, Joe You never believe this guess who Megan says is gaslighting her you know we talk about gaslighting all the time with second date updates and our war of the roses and horribly you know uh being treated by whoever the person is you're in a relationship with I never heard of this though um I think a therapist is

01:55:48 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 3:

trying to gaslight me and I'm not okay with this I think I'm slowly starting to lose my mind do you Did you go to therapy? So, used to. Okay. It's been a while. Going through it recently. Finally decided to bite the bullet. Yay. Good for you. Yeah. Make an appointment with a therapist and start going back and focusing on myself in a good way, not in a bad way, because let's be honest, I'm very self-centered, but like in the worst ways possible, so let's fix that. But I decided to make an appointment with this really interesting therapy group. I don't want to call it like a private practice because there's a ton of doctors there. So it's not just like one or two people. There's a bunch of people. And I was like, this is great because they do the whole like shop around method. If you sit down and you're not like vibing with your person, they've got like a million more for you to try out. And I was like, you know what? I like that. That seems pretty convenient. So I went online and I was signing up to try to make my first patient appointment. And you fill out a whole bunch of paperwork, like who your provider is, what you're looking for, yada, yada, yada. And in it, it asks for your phone number and your email address. And then it asks which way you would prefer to be contacted. So I fill it all out and I said, I'd really like to be called because I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing. And I feel better instead of just, you know, sending 10 emails back and forth. Give me a call. Let's talk about it. I'm excited to hear your response. I don't get a call for 48 hours and I'm checking my email and I'm not getting anything either and I'm like well that's kind of interesting they said they had availability and I checked it a couple of hours later I got my email and there was it was an email from the office and they said hey yeah we were going through this probably going to need you guys to give us a call so we can try to talk through it ma'am I said in both sign up sheets that I wanted to be called you emailed me and then had the audacity to tell me that i needed to call you are we dating already what is happening i'm getting gaslit by the guy that's not even my therapist yet so i have to tell you

01:57:58 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 1:

that it is a i was talking to jacob about this my son my middle son jacob is just got his um his master or his uh yeah his master's and now he's working on his doctorate in psychology And so he's going to be a psychologist, which he can't see me. I've asked him already. I was like, can I get the friends and family discount? I was like, I can't do that. But he was, we were talking about it. He said it's a six-month minimum waiting period on a lot of times getting into a therapist or a psychiatrist because there's so much mental health issues that are going on out there nowadays. And it's crazy. I shouldn't use the word crazy because that's not. It's wild. It's wild. There you go. how, um, how you like, it's the, I feel bad for the therapist too. Like they can't keep up and they're having a hard time keeping up. And I think a lot of these people, a lot of people who are therapists or psychiatrists and stuff, maybe aren't the most business savvy of people. So a lot of times they don't know what to do, but it's tough though. Cause you, here you are, you have finally gotten the courage that you say to yourself, I got to go get therapy. Right. Cause it takes a long time. It's honestly, I say going to therapy is like for me going on a diet i always sit there and i talk about it talk about it talk about it and then finally one day something hits me and i go and and if you don't get if you can't

01:59:14 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 2:

get into somebody i mean when i when i got you know when i started going to therapy um this was like 2016 the day i decided i needed to go to therapy i was like i need to go today like you're a lot of times it's like you there is something there is some sort of crisis happening in your life or inside of your you know your head that you you can't wait yeah a month for to be fair

01:59:40 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 3:

when you're filling out their information online it was like are you needing to talk to somebody more immediately or is this something that like it's not necessarily an emergency to come in and i did mark that it wasn't an emergency to come in so they they did have a it seemed like a different process if you needed help right now Thank you.

02:00:00 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 4:

You'll probably be put near the front of the line versus people who are like, I can wait a little bit. It's fine. I just need to make the appointment eventually, which I did really appreciate when I was reading through it. But what I found interesting was if you follow me on social media, a couple of days ago, I posted up on Facebook looking for a new gynecologist. Yeah, I saw that. Because I just love asking people for the doctors. And it was so interesting that nearly every recommendation took our health insurance. But when I was looking for a therapist, that was not the case. It was way more difficult to. Mine doesn't. Yeah. I was surprised. And how few of them each one takes. So listed who took what insurance and all of them only took like one or two.

02:00:43 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 1:

I have an idea for a business opportunity.

02:00:46 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Tell me.

02:00:47 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm thinking of doing this. maybe I might this might become so big if there really is this you know much mental health issues going on right now I'm thinking about doing drive through therapy where you talk to me through the drive through and then at the end of the whole thing we give you an order of whatever the food is because I think to myself all the time about when I go to my therapist there's sometimes where i'd like to go face to face with dennis but i don't because i'm so crazy busy here at the station lately that i'll sometimes be calling him on the road to go see him so i'll say let's just do it on the phone so we'll do it on the phone i kind of like it a little bit because i like the idea of uh just having a conversation and talking and then i can run errands while i'm doing the

02:01:42 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 3:

whole thing too yeah well we advertise for that better help which actually i know a lot of people who use it and it's basically like you do it all online and you it's like a Tinder for therapists. Like truly you go on there and you see profiles and you choose the therapist that you feel like you could best match with. Do you visually see them then? Yes. And if you don't like him or her after the first visit or first couple of visits you go back in and you pick somebody else.

02:02:08 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah it's like the office that Megan was talking about.

02:02:10 - 02:02:14 | Speaker 3:

And you could see their immediacy. Or you could see their availability.

02:02:14 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 1:

Excuse me. It's really cool. Do they buy you a drink? I don't believe they do.

02:02:20 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 3:

I've never used it personally, so I can't attest to that. But I'm thinking that there's no.

02:02:25 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Megan brings up a really interesting point about this place. Because I only have gone to therapists that somebody has recommended to me. And we talked about this on the More Mojo podcast a couple of days ago. Which you should go listen to it. Because it was very deep what we got into. We did a little couples therapy type thing with all of us as a show. But if you don't like the therapist that you go to, it sucks. because you start off telling them your life story for, like, the first four sessions, and then all of a sudden, for a session, you're like, like, I want to know right away. Kind of like a date, right? You want to know if the person's worthwhile.

02:03:00 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, you want to get past all the small talk and get to, like, the meat of, you know,

02:03:05 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 1:

the date or the issue. I've gone to therapists before, and I talked about this in the podcast. I've gone to therapists before. They've given me the worst advice ever. Like, literally, literally told me to get divorced like right off the bat go get divorced you should get divorced i'm like thank you and then asked me if i wanted to talk to their friend who is a divorce attorney i'm like wait a second there's

02:03:25 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

a scam going on here kayla what's up hi um i texted in that um you can actually go to a website that's psychology today.com and you can literally go in the filters and you can put in like like it has all the insurances you can just click on your insurance you can click like if you prefer a man or a woman i mean it literally filters out all of the um psychologists in your area yeah kayla

02:03:51 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 3:

it's so weird that you just called as you said psychology today my cousin ellen just texted me and said yay psychology today is a great resource yeah it must be a good one i mean that way yeah

02:04:02 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 2:

you don't have to you know call and ask oh do you accept my insurance yeah that's great you know

02:04:08 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 1:

what though sucks about this like in megan's case with this uh you know whoever psychologist therapist whatever it is is that in life rejection is the hardest thing that we deal with right it's such a hard thing to deal with getting in relationships nobody wants to be rejected by their therapist you know yeah oh yeah can you imagine i wonder if this ever happens can you imagine if your therapist tells you that they're breaking up with you because they don't want to go out with you anymore or don't want to deal with you anymore i'm sure that that i bet it does

02:04:37 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 3:

yeah that's like i'm sure that that relationship can get real toxic

02:04:41 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 1:

i need therapy for my therapy yeah um meg i don't know why you just don't answer uh or call me and let me just give you advice i've always given you good advice who's to say i'm

02:04:53 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 3:

not going there to talk about you oh things just got a little serious i never talk

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to talk about any of you guys. You are full of it. I am so full of it. Did you hear the sarcasm in my voice?

02:05:06 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 3:

Swear to God that you've never brought any of us up. Oh, no. I absolutely have brought all of you up.

02:05:12 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's terrifying. That's even scarier. Not media. Not KP.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:05:18 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 4:

But that was an interesting thing that filtering by men and women. Do you guys have same-sex therapists or opposite gender?

02:05:25 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 3:

I've always wanted to have like a sexy therapist like Tony Soprano had and the Sopranos, but I always have guys like dudes, you know?

02:05:34 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 5:

Poor Dennis.

02:05:35 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 3:

Guys that wear tweed jackets always look smarter to me than people that don't wear tweed jackets.

02:05:40 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I need a woman to relate to my problems, but I also want a man that won't, I don't know, to give a different perspective. I was having like a really hard time with this.

02:05:50 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 3:

What if you walked into your therapy office and Harry Styles was what the guy looked like?

02:05:55 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 4:

I would go, it's a pleasure to meet you. This isn't going to work out.

02:06:00 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 5:

Whatever you do, make sure your therapist doesn't have stomach problems. Because I had one and his stomach would gurgle from the time I sat down to the time I got up. And that's all I could focus on was counting the gurgles in my head.

02:06:11 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Was he hungry or something? Maybe it was around lunchtime that you were scheduling. Maybe he had something going on, but I could not focus.

02:06:18 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

What do you wear? Do you wear something comfortable or do you look professional?

02:06:21 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, my best therapy sessions are usually when I'm wearing like, I don't know, like a sweatshirt or something like that, like really low key. I've often said this too about therapy offices, Megan. They sit in the more comfortable chair than they give you because they're sitting all the whole time and it pisses me off. Like I've often wanted to ask my therapist if I could have his chair because it looks more comfortable than the one that I get.

02:06:45 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 5:

See, it's the opposite at Karen.

02:06:47 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? karen your therapist gives you the better chair it's a it's a love seat she gives you a love seat very cozy yes i fall you should call chelsea hold on a second we gotta call chelsea real quick i don't know if she's uh if she's up uh she's got to be up by now she's not up by now then they're call the call the ems chelsea used to love going to therapy with me when we would go to marriage therapy because chelsea chelsea will you tell megan and shannon what I would do when we were in couples therapy? Sleep.

02:07:22 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 6:

No. Oh, no. Yes.

02:07:27 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:07:28 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 6:

I would. He would go in. Yeah. Would you like to say what you would do? No, go ahead. You tell. He would go in and tell our counselor everything that was wrong with me and then take a nap. No.

02:07:39 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 5:

He just, okay. Did you just leave him sleeping so then you could tell the therapist everything that was wrong with him or would you try to wake him up?

02:07:46 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 6:

um well we drove together so we would but at the very end like so he would it was a couple months but then I ended up working on stuff for you know about myself and did my own little therapy and then um I remember the last one of the last times we've been several times one of the last times we went um he said okay so when are we going next week I said well we're not going next because I'm good you can go she got her therapy well honestly I honestly I didn't really want to

02:08:19 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 3:

go to go back to therapy he had such a comfortable couch it was a very comfortable couch and it was

02:08:25 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 6:

very warm and it was kind of in a basement so I get it but yeah it was it was it's honestly it

02:08:30 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 3:

was too nice like I almost wanted to put my pajamas on when I would go to the therapy that was very nice all right but look at us we got through it right you got you got all the help you need it.

02:08:41 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Look at us. Chelsea, when I go, what's the first thing I should bring up about Mojo to the therapist? Oh, yeah.

02:08:46 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Megan can't hear you because you're on my phone. What should Megan bring up about me during therapy?

02:08:54 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 6:

I'll text her.

02:08:58 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Megan, she's the best person ever. She's the greatest radio talent of all time. If there were a Mount Rushmore of radio, Megan would be on it. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:08 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning. mojo and shannon megan mike kp lydia all the great support staff here phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 the text is 95500 mike you had an awkward situation happened to you yesterday when when when you were out with the kids i didn't know that people actually still do this but i did not know that there are guys that will cat call girls while they're out in

02:09:34 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

public ah yeah and i it doesn't happen to me ever like so i'm when it happens i'm like okay this is a little flattering but i gotta imagine for like women uh when guys do it it's all the time it's probably the most annoying thing in the entire world i was uh i was at the gas station with with the kids or whatever getting gas and my daughter as i'm pumping gas rolls down her window and she goes daddy because my window my front windows were rolled down daddy

02:09:59 - 02:10:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:10:00 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 2:

why is that guy calling you daddy? And I'm like, what are you talking about? And so I see this, like, it was like an old school Bronco circle around, and I hear something really quick, but I don't really know what it is. And then it does it again to the point where I'm, like, now noticing it. And it's this guy, and I'm not going to do it justice, but he goes, hey, daddy. And I went, are you talking to me? And I'm like, oh, my God, he is. And then, like, people look from, like, his passenger seat, turn around and look and start laughing and they drive off and i'm like did they just did they just hit on me you

02:10:33 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

just got flirted with i think so i didn't know that guys have ever gotten uh cat called before

02:10:39 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 2:

i always thought that that was just girls that got cat called never in i don't think it's ever happened to me from like a car especially i don't think it's ever happened at all and my daughter's like why is he calling you daddy and i was like uh well it's a it's a compliment and she's like okay so is it a compliment when i call you daddy like no that's just what you're supposed to You know what? We'll talk to your mom later about that. You don't know exactly what to say? I still haven't explained it to her yet because I'm not really sure what to say.

02:11:05 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 3:

The funniest thing is when somebody says something and you don't know how to explain it to your kids, what's the first thing that you always do? You can talk to your mom about it. Well, mom will explain that to you a little bit later. You just kind of pawn it off right on to Allie. That's funny. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I have never known of a guy catcalling another guy. But I could see where it would happen.

02:11:34 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, for sure. I don't know that I've known of a catcall that actually worked.

02:11:38 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:11:38 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 4:

I mean, good point.

02:11:39 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever had somebody catcall you? I bet you and Megan and Shannon have.

02:11:46 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, maybe. But I have to say, it's kind of a compliment, But also you internally are rolling your eyes No it's a compliment

02:11:56 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 4:

I don't have to follow through But I still I got it So you actually like it

02:12:01 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 3:

I would have never in a million years thought that Megan would like that I kind of like to hear this

02:12:07 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 4:

But the look on the outside of my face Is don't you dare talk to me But on the inside I'm like I got it You know what's so funny

02:12:14 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 5:

I think mine's the opposite I think just like my natural reaction is to just like smile Like as a thank you And inside I'm like okay Go to hell Honestly I don't know

02:12:29 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't like it But I don't outwardly want to be rude And then sometimes I'm like Oh my god he has nice shoes He probably does a good job And he still thinks they're cute

02:12:37 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Have either one of you ever followed through on it?

02:12:42 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

No

02:12:43 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 3:

What is the follow through? Just to flirt with them again?

02:12:48 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah like to turn around Yeah And give them attention

02:12:51 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah You just kind of ignore them and keep going Do you When you ignore them Keep going Does your strut all of a sudden Look a little sexier Like Mike When that guy called you daddy Did it put a little thing into you Or what did it do Okay

02:13:04 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 2:

So at first I'm like I'm like Man I don't really know how to take this Because it doesn't It doesn't happen It's never happened with a guy And I'm like you know what From a gay guy That's kind of flattering That's pretty flattering

02:13:16 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh I agree with you

02:13:17 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like man okay I told Allie, I was like, I still got it. I still got it.

02:13:23 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 5:

So long, gay boy. You know, the most annoying cat call is the cat call when you're parked at a red light and it's the rev of the engine.

02:13:30 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

02:13:30 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 5:

Not even a cat call, but you know that they're trying to get some attention.

02:13:35 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 3:

He's trying to make it all tingly inside. What's going on, Claire?

02:13:41 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

My husband is a corrections officer, and he gets cat called all the time by the prisoners. My favorite one to date is when they called him Big Daddy.

02:13:52 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 3:

So the prisoners actually do that to your husband?

02:13:55 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:13:56 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Do you think that this guy that was catcalling Mike calling him Daddy might have just gotten out of prison?

02:14:03 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 1:

It's possible. Who knows?

02:14:05 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So your husband comes home and shares with you that he got flirted on by the prisoners.

02:14:13 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, one time a prisoner asked him to feed them his spaghetti while he was eating. And he looked at them like they were on drugs.

02:14:23 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's wild. Is your husband the type of guy, like, is he, like, a big burly guy? Or what does he look like?

02:14:30 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's slightly smaller than his dad. So his dad's, like, 6'2", 250, and my husband's, like, 5'11", 230.

02:14:39 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. That's great. I love it. Do you ever notice that he spends extra time doing his hair and putting on a little cologne before he goes to work? Would that be weird if a prison guard put cologne on before he went to work?

02:14:52 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 1:

No, because he actually puts cologne on. He asked for cologne for Christmas so that he had several different colognes to put on for work. Wow. But why, though? Yeah. But why, though? Well, there's other people he works with, right? There's fellow prison guards that are there probably, right? Visitors and things like that.

02:15:11 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and he's got a little bit higher of a position, so he really has to be presentable. Like, you have to have a clean-shaven face, a nicer kind. Yeah.

02:15:20 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 1:

Manscaped, you know, all the... I love it. Well, thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

02:15:27 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 4:

Of course. You too.

02:15:28 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 1:

um texters here texting that they're happy to know that megan actually likes cat calls i'm a guy calling from grand rapids next time i see megan i'm gonna give her the whole whistle thing with the fingers the the is that the whole like put the two fingers in there and i don't know but

02:15:46 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 2:

you'll get some fingers in response come on you would like it though but on the inside i've got

02:15:51 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 1:

02:16:49 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 3:

Myself, I work at an adult daycare with seniors, and the ladies go crazy for the Elvis impersonators.

02:16:58 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so you guys have people come in to entertain these old people?

02:17:02 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we have live entertainment almost every other day. And if the Elvis impersonators are showing a little chest hair, they're going crazy.

02:17:12 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 1:

Man, that's awesome. You know what? That's what they need to do. Have they ever brought in, like, male strippers for these guys or entertainment like that? Do you remember the story that was big in the news where they actually had a local strip club come in and perform for the old people?

02:17:27 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:17:28 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 1:

And people were very upset by the whole thing. But the old people that worked at the senior center, Cassie, were like, this was the greatest day of our lives, you know?

02:17:39 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes. We have like virgin, like Cinco de Mayo We had virgin margaritas And some of them even acted like they were drunk

02:17:46 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Hopefully they felt it You know, they felt the enjoyment of that What's up, Chelsea? How you doing? Oh, you're the... Good, how are you? Good, you're the mail carrier, huh?

02:17:58 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 4:

I am Yeah Shout out to South Toledo Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo, woo

02:18:03 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 1:

What's happening, mail lady? You get some whistles every now and again?

02:18:09 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, some of the females and other guys will be walking down the streets and we'll have one of our customers will come out on the porch and they'll just catcall us. And it's crazy because we'll be like four houses down and they're yelling at us.

02:18:21 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

To be fair, I have like six male people that come to my house in the South End and all of them are incredibly attractive. I don't know what's in the water, but y'all be doing it. It's all the walking. We walk all day long.

02:18:33 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 1:

That's it. You got great calves. Do you ever judge people based on their mail that they get?

02:18:42 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 2:

No. Yes, you do. Wait, there was a hesitation. You liar. I have never thought about this. You do. What gets judgment?

02:18:54 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 4:

Some of the packages that will come through, we'll be like, we know what this is.

02:18:57 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Do you guys shake it a little bit?

02:19:01 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 4:

Like self-care devices? yeah definitely we'll get self-care devices yeah i like that and they'll come in those packages where it's like this is not what this is right but it is so very obvious listen to this story

02:19:13 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 1:

um letter carriers are demanding action to stop robberies postal workers u.s postal workers have been held up while they're out doing their jobs and they said that they want like the police to do more patrolling in the areas around some of these homes where they're getting robbed and this is happening they said not just in major cities this is happening in rural communities as a matter of fact they said that there's some areas that are within the midwest uh suburban communities where this happens have you ever had that happen where you've been worried about that i personally

02:19:46 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

have not because i work in a pretty decent area um but yeah some of the stations in toledo they do they'll get held up for our car keys or just people's other people's mail yeah because a lot

02:19:59 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 1:

of people assume that there must be something inside of the mail that might be valuable like that adult box that you were delivering to whoever the person was. Joke's on you. The University of

02:20:09 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 2:

Toledo is just asking me for more money. Is that what it is? Yeah. It's always that. And then it's

02:20:15 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 1:

the local like bad newspaper that, you know, has nothing in it. Right. It's always the bad flyers and stuff like that. All right. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself. Thanks. You too, guys. real quick i got a uh text message from a friend of mine his name is jay yi i think i've told you guys about j right jay is legendary because he's been to almost every costco that has ever been on this planet or is ever on this planet in the world yes in the world, travels across worldwide, but he also is a Costco employee working at Costco. We've been working our butts off to celebrate the 25th anniversary of costco in metro detroit wow it's been 25 years huh since costco's been here and then he sent me pictures of what the uh the the costco looks like and the the beautiful uh stuff that they've been doing to it i said to him i go i would only do this if you bring the mojo in the morning show one of those peanut butter pies that they have or whatever that new pie is that

02:21:48 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 2:

they have. I actually need some Nutella too. When you pick some up for me, I'll Venmo him.

02:21:53 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 1:

Let me say this to you. He will do it. Don't do that because then you'll go out to your car this afternoon and there'll be a Nutella sitting on your

02:22:00 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 2:

front hood. That would be wonderful, Jamie. I will Venmo you.

02:22:02 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 1:

No, but here's the thing. We need that pie because that pie, and he's got a ton of them in this picture. I've never had it. That pie is like the pie that everybody's been talking about, right? Have you had it? No, I haven't. I can't have it, but everybody says that it rivals the pumpkin pie that's better than the pumpkin pie that they have at Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it's like a peanut butter, like a Reese's peanut butter cup pie. It's delicious. And they have, look at all these for Tony Travato. He would love those. The carrot cakes. Cupcakes. So, it's very exciting. Very exciting stuff that you get on the show.

02:22:35 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 2:

Okay, wait, a lot of people work at that Costco or shop at that Costco because our texts are.

02:22:39 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 1:

So, you guys got to go meet J.E. So, when you go in there, he works, I think, mornings and he always sends, so we have a group text that there's a group of us in and he knows I wake up at 3 30 in the morning so in the group text he he goes morning Tom in the group text I say it in his voice morning Tom and everybody gets pissed because then they get a ding on their phone at 3 30 in the morning like why does he not just do it to just me directly but he does it in the group text for everybody oh my god I gotta tell you about another friend so since we're just talking about this so this one actually could turn into something here so another friend of mine um told me a story about in in this is this did not go over well you know in front of uh in front of wives told me a story about how he and his co-workers scratch each other's backs at work i guess i guess everyone in the office will do a whole like a circle they do like a back scratching thing where it's like okay today's the day that jacob has to scratch you know uh julie's back and yesterday was julie scratching jacob's back and by the way i'm using fake names and stuff like that because i want to protect this guy but they have this whole thing and you guys know this firsthand right with this weather and stuff your back and has been kind of itchy lately or your body's been itchy lately probably dry from how the how things have been with the heat and everything but they have a co-worker scratching thing that goes on and i and i said well i said to him i go you can't do that nowadays you can't be scratching your co-workers backs you can't be doing that anyways it's weird it is weird but i mean if it's consensual there was a date day here in in town when remember when

02:24:32 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 2:

joey used to be on our show in slim okay so this is why i'm laughing because what did we all ask

02:24:37 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 1:

them to do well it was slim would always be the guy that i would always ask him if he would scratch my back because he would come in and he would always go hey big fella and he'd come up next to me and he would like give me hugs and stuff yeah and i'd say hey can you scratch it and then

02:24:49 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 2:

you and joey was always massaging people's shoulders because he was really good at it

02:24:54 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

joey would massage shannon's shoulders and i thought to myself that is that is right there not a

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, I cannot condone that. Joey's like my brother. Slim can touch me. Joey cannot touch you.

02:25:07 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 1:

I think you got a massage here and there.

02:25:09 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

It was not a... Yeah, Joey would come over and go, Hey, you missing me? I can't do an invitation of Joey. I haven't talked to Joey in forever, so I don't know what... But it was always kind of like... It was always Tom. Hey, Tom. Hey, Tom. It was a little like Mike Posner. It was kind of Mike Posner.

02:25:26 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 1:

But we would ask, Hey, my shoulders hurt. Can you go massage my shoulders? I mean, you're right. It's probably not. But we didn't have like a schedule like your friend seems to have. They have different days.

02:25:39 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 3:

They have a schedule. And I don't know how you guys feel about this. Mike and Megan, would you be opposed? If we're all in the studio together, can we all do a circle scratch or something?

02:25:49 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not.

02:25:50 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 3:

No. No, not a chance.

02:25:51 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

No. Oh, I'm down.

02:25:52 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 3:

Do you not like to be touched?

02:25:54 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 4:

No. I hate it so incredibly much. How much?

02:25:59 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't mind it from professionals. If I'm going to get a massage, then that's fine. But I don't like it when people just walk up and just start rubbing the shoulders and getting all close for no reason.

02:26:09 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, they've got to ask. If I ask, I mean, obviously it's okay, which is what we would do.

02:26:17 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 3:

Consent has to be given.

02:26:19 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 1:

Bro, if somebody randomly came up and just started massaging my shoulders, that would be a little creepy.

02:26:24 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 4:

I would rather act like a bear, find a door frame, and scratch my own rack than have somebody touch me. Oh. I like being touched.

02:26:33 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. So here's the question.

02:26:34 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 1:

If somebody please pull that. Scratch and rub all you want.

02:26:39 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to throw this out there.

02:26:42 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 1:

Tickle my arm.

02:26:42 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to.

02:26:43 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 1:

Do it all.

02:26:45 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to throw this out there, and I want to ask the listeners this. i want to know what's the weird thing that you do in your office that is kind of like embarrassingly funny you know what i mean like is what's like what's the the kind of weird thing that you guys do like the you know friends of ours that that back scratch like is there something weird that

02:27:09 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 2:

uh that you guys do i don't know if this is weird but i always walk to an open door and like it doesn't matter whose office it is and i go knock knock even though the door is open like i'll pretend like I'm knocking on the door, I'll just go, hey, knock, knock. You don't have to do that if the door is open. Just say hi.

02:27:25 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 3:

Has anybody ever told you that you are Michael from the office?

02:27:29 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I can see that. I can 100%. That or maybe like a slight Dwight, like a little bit of each.

02:27:34 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're kind of like a little Dwight-y. A little bit of each. Mojo in the morning show. What's going on, Megan?

02:27:42 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 4:

So my coworkers and I work at a hospital, and once a month we go in our break room and they all make me derma blade their faces.

02:27:51 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 1:

I would be so down for that.

02:27:55 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they'll come in and I'll know it's that day because they all show up without any makeup on and they'll go, okay, today you have to... Derma blade.

02:28:02 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, call me the next time. I will be there hanging out with you guys. Perfect. Sounds good.

02:28:07 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Megan. What's up, Maria? How you doing?

02:28:10 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good. How are you guys?

02:28:12 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's the weird thing that you guys do in your office?

02:28:14 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 6:

um i one time my co-worker asked me to put fake eyelashes on her so i got the whole glue out that was in my desk and i put some eyelashes on her what do you guys do for a living um i work for

02:28:30 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

cps oh you know yeah i mean you got a stressful job very important but honestly that's a stressful job like you almost need to have like downtime like that together right a little self-care oh

02:28:42 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, for sure. I mean, I had Zach, who has been working hard doing all of our podcasting. I had him crack my back the other day. Really? Yeah, my back was killing me. He's cracking your back? Yeah, well, Sean Strife came in, who does middays on our Detroit station. He came in and got his back cracked, and then I'm like, wait a second, I want my back cracked, too.

02:29:03 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 3:

By the way, he also is a chiropractor when he leaves here. He goes to his chiropractic office. What's up, Jana? How you doing?

02:29:10 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. So, me and my co-workers have kind of had, like, fashion shows in the office. One of my co-workers, she's Canadian, and she has her stuff shipped to a U.S. house. And, like, she's had, like, four dresses where even our one nurse that was a male tried on a dress. And it was pretty comical. If we have a date night, we'll be like, hey, guys, what do you think of these outfits?

02:29:37 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 6:

I love that. It's so fitting that we're playing the office theme during this because I wanted to go fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch.

02:29:46 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 3:

That's actually kind of cool. I mean, listen, you guys do things. The girls on the show always do things together where they'll show off outfits or you'll bring something in and say, hey, what do you think of this? And then you guys give each other the advice on it. Yeah, we got our own bathroom in the office, too, so we have privacy.

02:30:04 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 2:

I do like that you got the guys also doing it, too. The guys are participating in this. Although here it wouldn't work because Megan and Mike aren't fun enough to want to have back scratching. I just don't want to be rubbed on while I'm at work.

02:30:15 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 3:

It was a really pretty dress. He had to try it on. Right, exactly.

02:30:19 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. Appreciate it. What's going on, Allison? What's happening?

02:30:24 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, yeah, I'm driving to work right now, but yeah.

02:30:28 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 2:

What do you do in the office that people would not probably be happy with?

02:30:33 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 3:

It's like every week. Sometimes we'll crack each other's backs. We'll just go into the break room and do that. But, yeah, pretty fun.

02:30:43 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 2:

See, there's nothing wrong with that.

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 1:

You've got to have somebody else help you do that.

02:30:46 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 2:

And everybody's okay with it, right? There's nobody at, you know, the office that's like Mike or Megan that are really boring and don't want to do something like that. Oh, my God. This feels like we're being shamed into being rubbed. Yeah, they won't let us all, like, you know, have our time where, you know, we can all make sure that we... That's like bonding moments. You have to rub each other to bond.

02:31:07 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 3:

No, they have to do it because it, like, hurts. If they don't do it, they, like, ask for it every time.

02:31:12 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they all... Megan, how are we the weird ones for not wanting to get rubbed? You know what I think the problem is? That you guys both work in separate studios than us and are not with us at a normal time. If you were always with us, you would be fine with it.

02:31:24 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 1:

I know. I'm a little weirded out about what goes on in the Detroit studio because we're not around. You know that annoying person in the office? Hey, Bill, I just sent you a text, an email, and a voicemail. Did you get it? Oh, cool. Good to see you standing in my office now. No, there is no HR-approved way to tell them to go the f*** away. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:31:47 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. So, Chelsea and I met this couple that does something that I was very intrigued by. Chelsea and kind of thought it was goofy. And then when I presented it to her saying we should do it too, she was not very into it. They schedule sex. They have a sex calendar. So what they do is And by the way before you think that this is not Intimate This is not you know They do a sex count Like that just seems like you know Their relationship is not good Their relationship is fabulous Actually to be honest with you

02:32:31 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 1:

Because of this

02:32:32 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 2:

Well because of I'm sure a lot of things First off they're both freaking gorgeous Like you know what I mean Like in my relationship I don't know how I marry Chelsea Some people think I must have a very, very big ding dong because I have to tell you something. They can't understand how I got her. Not the case. I think, honestly, she likes my eyes. But don't go anywhere with that. But this couple has a really good relationship. They get along very, very well. And they seem very intimate with each other. But here's the reason why they say that they schedule sex. They have a sex calendar. They put it on their calendar so that they know that they're not going to get to the end of the night or just before the end of the night and be so exhausted that both of them are going to be, I got something I got to do before I go to bed or I'm too tired. So what they do is they have it set up that they're going to do a couple of days a week. They want to make sure they have a sex at least twice a week because they've been married for now 12 years or 13 years. As time goes on in marriages, honestly, sex becomes less important to people. I know that that sounds crazy, but it does. Because you got kids and lives and, you know, just trying to honestly keep a roof over it.

02:33:43 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 1:

And a busy calendar in general. Yeah.

02:33:45 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 2:

So they put it on their calendar a couple days a week. They kind of sporadically look at what their calendar looks like, making sure that it's not like on baseball night or not on, you know, when their daughter has a, you know, a play or one of the things that she does, you know, the onstage stuff. And then they work around that on the days that they can actually be more into each other. You know, I will say this to you. I think it's fabulous. So I'm talking. So we're talking to them and I look at Chelsea and I see that Chelsea's kind of into this. And I said, oh, my God, we finally found in all the years that we've been married a way for us to have sex more often. We're going to put it on a calendar just like Chelsea does with all the events that we have.

02:34:30 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you got to have it. It's got to have its own color. Chelsea has color coded.

02:34:34 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea. Have you seen our calendar?

02:34:36 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 1:

No, but I mean, it's they make it very easy to do that now with all these different calendars.

02:34:39 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea has. So we have a calendar that's on our iPhones, but Chelsea actually has a physical calendar in one of the cabinets on the other side of one of the cabinets in our kitchen where you open it up and it will say Luke's activities, golf stuff, and then it will say Jacob's, you know, work schedule for work and then his school.

02:35:00 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 1:

schedule so we know exactly when he's doing work stuff and when he so if we want to plan like a trip to go into Chicago or even Joe like Joe did a promotion the other day that Chelsea and I were going to think about going out to but we couldn't because our schedule was full with Luke stuff but it was Joe's promotional thing that he had down in Tampa to do so we go through the whole schedule and I think we should put on there mom and dad and what was Chelsea's reaction she was not into it at all she thought she said no it works she goes she goes i i go no because that's honestly one of the things like people may think that this is crazy but there are times there are times not when i would turn down sex i'll never turn down sex but there are times where honestly i don't want to have sex because i'm so exhausted all i want to do is go to bed normally i would

02:35:50 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 4:

poo-poo on this idea because i feel like either we've talked about it before i've talked about it with somebody before like this idea of scheduling sex onto a calendar and i've always thought oh I don't want my relationship to ever get to that point where I would have to schedule it I just want to you know have it all the time and now that I it's it's it's interesting because we just had this conversation about couples therapy and Wes separately telling our counselor you know how many times in the past month we thought we've had we've had we've baked cookies whatever um and it there is something too now at this point in your lives being so insanely busy that it almost would be nice to go, okay, we have some time, you know, like between one and three o'clock today. We need to make a note to do it because you're right. If you save it for the end of the day, sometimes you are just, you literally fall into bed and it doesn't happen.

02:36:38 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 1:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. I want to know if anybody does this. I want to know if any people are completely opposed to this and don't see it. what the reasoning is why you would do this. I know exactly what the people who are opposed to this are going to say. I know that they're going to say that you don't have a good enough relationship where your spouse is going to want to like, you know, take care of you or you take care of your spouse. And I'm going to say this to you. You're half right. No, no. I'm going to say this to you that lives get busy. I mean, I, I'm exhausted. Chelsea's exhausted. You're exhausted. How many times are people just mentally drained too? The other thing with sex is we're like going through anxiety-filled times right now. And sometimes it's not a good time to have it because then it's just the act of it, not so much the actual having it. And I said that to them. I go, here's the thing. I feel like you guys are just going through the motions that this is the case. And they both said, no, we're making sure the motions are good. Yeah. Making sure the space is good. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Hello.

02:37:51 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I wanted to talk about the schedule.

02:37:53 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 1:

Yes, do you schedule?

02:37:55 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:37:57 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 1:

And what does your schedule look like? Do you have like a calendar and do you guys share that calendar with each other?

02:38:04 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we have a calendar actually on our wall by our bed.

02:38:08 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 1:

Really? And are you doing this because of time constraints or are you doing this because you're also maybe trying to have a baby or what is it?

02:38:14 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 3:

you know we have five boys so um and we've been married for a very very long time so after a while it just kind of dwindled and we didn't have no time for each other and just like you guys were talking about we just kind of fall into bed and they were so tired so we need you know the kind of a color coordination like this is a time where we you know you don't have sex and then these are the times that we go on a date just so we made sure that we made time for each other yeah do

02:38:43 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 4:

Do any of your boys ask about what that calendar is next to the bed?

02:38:46 - 02:38:47 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah. All the time.

02:38:47 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if I can recommend color-coding sex, it should be red, right?

02:38:52 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I think mine is baby blue, but red is actually a very good color.

02:38:58 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 1:

I love that you do that. Thanks for the call. Sherry, what's going on?

02:39:02 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm sadly one of those people who has to schedule that I don't have a calendar, but my life is so busy. I work 80-plus hours a week, so if I don't make time for it on Sunday,

02:39:12 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 4:

it doesn't happen. You know what, Sherry, though? Like, my mind has really changed on this, and you say, sadly, I have to schedule it, but I actually think that you are stressing the importance of it. Like, you're making it a priority, and you're making sure that you have time to do it.

02:39:28 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:39:29 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 2:

That's the only thing you can do. I've gotten 80 hours plus a week, and kids, and life,

02:39:34 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 1:

and... Sherry,

02:39:36 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 2:

how many times is it

02:39:38 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 1:

on your calendar?

02:39:40 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't actually have a calendar, But it's always every Sunday.

02:39:45 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's the Sabbath. Are you sure you should be doing that on the Lord's Day?

02:39:49 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 2:

That's the only day of the week that I have had.

02:39:53 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 1:

What's happening, Jennifer?

02:39:56 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Hello. Being pregnant.

02:40:00 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 3:

I have zero sex drive. I know a lot of women say that they have a higher sex drive when they're pregnant. I just haven't found that to be true with me. So for the sake of my relationship, and like you said, Shannon, like putting in the time to care about it, we schedule it once a week.

02:40:15 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 2:

It's really smart to do it because of, obviously, there's times where you got to go to the doctor the next day too. This was the other thing that she said. She's like, I have had doctor's appointments, and I don't want to have sex the night before a doctor's appointment. You know what I mean?

02:40:30 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever thought of it? It's weird. Yes, absolutely. Like, going in and talking to your doctor about it. I even asked her, like, is it normal that I don't, like, it's uncomfortable for me almost sometimes. Oh, yeah. But, like, for the sake, you know, for the sake of my relationship, it's a priority, and it needs to be. Here's a question, though.

02:40:48 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 2:

What do you do if you miss an appointment? Because if you miss an appointment, you know, you might get charged. You know how they do that sometimes? Like, if you miss an appointment, they'll actually give you a cancellation fee? Do you have a cancellation fee?

02:41:01 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I don't miss an appointment.

02:41:03 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 2:

You're good. You're good about that.

02:41:07 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 3:

I'll miss the other appointment, but I'll make up for it in other ways.

02:41:10 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 2:

I like it. That's good. You know what's funny, though, is I wonder if you, when you do the scheduling and you put it in your iPhone, do you ever have it on your phone where it shows the alert of what's coming up next? And it will be like, you can do it within like 15 minutes before the appointment, 30 minutes before the appointment. Yes. Can you imagine you're sitting on the couch watching TV with the kids, and all of a sudden it pops up? Mommy and Daddy time right there on there.

02:41:32 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 1:

Every man has the right to be ugly, but Mojo is abusing the privilege. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:41:39 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. So Megan had something happen to her yesterday that when she was describing it to us, I thought, holy crap, that's kind of scary to think. But then when she fully described it, I thought to myself, I'm like, oh, my God, I've been in that position before. She got stuck. And where did you get stuck?

02:42:00 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 4:

I got stuck in the car wash, but not even in the car wash, in the line to get a car wash. And it was all one of those. OK, I don't know if it's like this in Grand Rapids or in Detroit, but in Toledo, it feels like every five and a half seconds, a new luxury car wash is opening up. It is wild. I don't know what kind of business margins they got over there, but I should have invested early because I would be a rich, rich woman with how quickly these are popping up everywhere.

02:42:26 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, look at you. You got stuck in a car wash because why? Was the line like hugely?

02:42:30 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 4:

No, I got stuck in a car wash because I essentially am an idiot, which is not shocking to anybody. But I had pulled up to the machine because it was a machine that you had to put your credit card in, pick your car wash and then go in. And there's a giant line. So I'm waiting and the line starts to clear through. and it's not working. And I hit the button on the screen, and it's not working. Now, I don't know if you know this, but apparently for retired men, the place to be at 2 o'clock on a Monday is the car wash. When I tell you, there was a line of old people behind me who are not in the mood for me to be stuck. There was a line of old people who were very mad at me, which I also think it was very rude. We all knew that I was having issues, and nobody offered to buy my car wash.

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 2:

Of course, it was all men, too. All men. Yeah, exactly.

02:43:15 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 4:

It was. It was all like 80 year old men

02:43:18 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Did you get out of the car to go look To make sure

02:43:20 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 4:

No because they were all giving me dirty looks Like I looked in my rear view mirror To count the cars behind me And it was a whole bunch of guys Knocking on death's door Going come on lady Get out of our way

02:43:31 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 2:

That does drive me crazy by the way When you do go somewhere And a person can't figure out How to actually work something That you know you could figure out

02:43:41 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 4:

Right

02:43:41 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 2:

And then it just causes for a huge backup in line

02:43:44 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 4:

So the whole line in front of me into the car wash has cleared. I'm still stuck behind the barrier. Oh, my anxiety would be up to here. I'm sweating. I'm, like, screaming on the inside. I don't know what's going on. Nobody's helping me. Nothing's working. It doesn't take cash. Like, literally panic mode is setting in. And an employee had to come out. I was like, hey, ma'am, what seems to be the issue? I'm like, isn't that working? And he was like, yeah, you got to flip your card the other way. I was inserting my cart in the wrong way to the machine, and everybody was so mad at me. But I say all this. I know. No, you're so dumb. You are really dumb. I know. For real. I know. I say all this because I think single lane drive-thrus, no matter what the business, whether it's car wash or Starbucks or drive-thru, whatever, should be illegal. Yeah. Because the fact that you get stuck places sometimes is so scary.

02:44:37 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 2:

My least favorite thing to do is to go to a Tim Hortons or a Starbucks, thinking that you have time enough to go get something, only to be stuck behind like four cars that are taking forever to get through.

02:44:54 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

And you can't get out because there's curbs and nice little bushes on both sides of you.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

When I had the Jeep Wrangler.

02:45:00 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 1:

I actually would drive over curbs. I didn't care. If I could, I'd drive over the cars to get to the front of the line. But I really didn't care. But now that I don't have a car that actually can get over the curbs, I actually will stay back there and just sit there and I get sweaty the whole time thinking about it. Car washes, though, you're right about car washes, and I cannot figure out exactly what is the story with car washes. My favorite texter just texted and says, Megan, the reason why car washes are so popular If you ever watch Breaking Bad They're a place for drug laundering

02:45:32 - 02:45:37 | Speaker 6:

It is, it's a big money laundering thing Well, not all of them

02:45:37 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 1:

But Breaking Bad

02:45:38 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 6:

The other bad thing about car washes Has this ever happened to you I don't know why I have had a lot of experience doing this But it still screws me up Getting your tires onto that thing And if you get onto it wrong They make you back up But everybody behind you has to back up so you can back up and reconfigure your direction to get onto the thing.

02:46:00 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 1:

And they're all just a bunch of, according to Megan, angry old white men.

02:46:03 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 6:

Yes, knocking on death's door. At 2 o'clock on a Monday on Heather Downs, yes.

02:46:08 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 1:

Topless, oh, look who's on well. It's Mojo in the Morning Misfit, Topless Tara. I remember her from the car wash. Hey, Tara. How are you, Tara? Hi, you guys. How you doing, Tara?

02:46:21 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing great. How are you guys doing?

02:46:24 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Good. Speaking of getting stuck in a car wash, you got stuck in a car wash and made yourself comfortable. That video went viral. It's now all over the place. I actually heard from a friend the other day that said that they posted it on their social media.

02:46:38 - 02:46:39 | Speaker 6:

No way.

02:46:39 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 1:

They loved it. They loved seeing you going through the car wash with your windows down.

02:46:45 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. I wish I had my boobies out.

02:46:48 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. You didn't need to. Those boobies are covered and they're out. Have you ever had that happen to you, Tara, where you get into a drive-thru line and you realize how slow it's going to be and you just want to get the hell out of there?

02:47:03 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and I've literally tried to back out. It's too much.

02:47:08 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever done that where you, like, tried to get people to back up so they could let you out?

02:47:13 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and the lady cussed me all the way out. Didn't you know that it was going to be a lie? You're impatient. I said, what is wrong with you? Did you eat your Wheaties this morning?

02:47:23 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 1:

I always sit there and think to myself, am I just really impatient or are other people feeling the same way? And then I look at the frustration on people through my rear view mirror. Yeah.

02:47:34 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 2:

How do you mean the good one?

02:47:36 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's good to talk to you. Good to see you. We got to see you again soon. Okay?

02:47:41 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay. No problem.

02:47:43 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 1:

I love you. What's up, Megan?

02:47:45 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning. What's happening? So, funny story. Just the other day with my fiance, we went to the grocery store on our way home. There's tons of construction. We realized there was a lane closure, so we couldn't turn where we needed. So my fiance is like, oh, just turn around in the car wash. And he goes like all the way to the back of their lap to turn around and then realizes he can't do that. So we were forced to get a car wash to get out of there.

02:48:13 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 1:

It's like one way in and one way out. You got to go through, right? Yeah. Yep. What's up, AJ? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hey, how are you? We're doing all right. Megan got stuck in the car wash yesterday, and she couldn't figure out how to get out until she realized she was putting her credit card in wrong.

02:48:32 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, so something happened to me like that, except I was already inside the car wash.

02:48:37 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it stopped on you?

02:48:40 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 5:

Yep. So you know that machine that is pulling your tires? Yes. It sort of just stopped working. And I was about three-quarters of the way in. Now, the good news is that for me, like, my car was pretty much clean, and I was getting ready to that drying phase. So I could see, you know, that there's issues going on. But the couple cars behind me, that all their windows are, like, you know, being washed, like, the machine's still there, so they don't know what's going on. It was, like, for eight minutes.

02:49:08 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That is scary thought, to be stuck inside of the thing, you know, especially the ones that don't have an attendant because that happened to me at that speedway right next door here yeah where all it does is just shoot water out at you but it shoots it like a million miles an hour and you're stuck in there and there's nobody there and there's nobody to call you know you gotta try to hope that somebody at the speedway station notices that there's the same car in the thing for a while what's up jordan hi what's going on so mine's not a car

02:49:39 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 3:

wash but i was at a self-pay um for my university that i was at and i was trying to leave and of course i had about 10 cars behind me and i forgot my credit card and they don't pay cash and it's a robot and i had to make the whole line of cars back up through this single tiny little line everybody was so mad

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 4:

I was so embarrassed.

02:50:02 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 1:

That's the worst. You could do what my friend Ashley just did and drive through the gate.

02:50:07 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 4:

No, it's like a big barricade. There is no way of getting around it. Oh, there is. In a minivan. The university didn't come to her over a half hour. It was really embarrassing.

02:50:17 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 2:

It's amazing because I still wish that they had security video of that going through because it's like in- Of Ash? You know how the cop shows where the person drives through those? They kind of like race around. What's up, Sam?

02:50:30 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So, my husband was very sweet and decided to get me, like, a membership for a new car wash that popped up right down the street from us. And, like, every time we go, it's been not working or it's just randomly working. So, I go one day. In the middle of the day, I'm like, it'll be working. Sitting in line, and I'm in line for at least five minutes, and no one's going through, and no one is even telling us what's going on. So, I see people. There's, like, three lanes. I see people start backing out. I'm going, all right, I've got to go back to work. i'm just going to to back out but at this point i'm like angry because we spent all this money on a membership and i don't ever i can't ever get the car washed because it's always down so the car behind me gives me room and i back out but i was very mad at this point and i like gunned it and i slammed into the post that surrounds the dumpster hit my hatch so my hatch is bent i busted my life in my house i told my husband and i'm like that was not a very good

02:51:30 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 2:

yeah here you are trying to make your car look better and you end up damaging the thing oh my god that's the worst by the way my favorite calls of all this um bianca and erica are on with us this morning they're driving vehicles that they broke down in the drive-thru bianca what happened

02:51:50 - 02:52:41 | Speaker 5:

to you so um i was in the checkers line you know some places was rallies but yeah checkers yeah and my battery died oh no but the worst part was in the midst of all of this me and my boyfriend were arguing and i had to call my ex to come give us a job no no no no no that's when you leave the car behind walk away and call a loss and no because he called somebody first and they came with no jumper cables so at that point i had to call my ex so it was just like a real strange situation i just said it was like my best friend are you still with your boyfriend now no actually no are you with the ex no well we are still best friends though oh my god so that

02:52:41 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 2:

was in the checkers line erica what happened to you at mcdonald's so i used to drive this old

02:52:47 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 3:

Aztec and the gas gauge was broken so I could never tell how much gas I had in the car and I had to go by how many gallons I used and how many I put in the last time I got gas well I did not keep track of it very well and I ran out of gas in the drive-thru at McDonald's were people hating on you oh yeah I had to have uh one of the the drive-thru guys had to come out and push my car

02:53:16 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 2:

Is it the same guy that brings you your hot fries when you're parked in a parking spot?

02:53:23 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, probably. Oh, that's great.

02:53:28 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, that's the worst. Mojo in the morning show. So it's funny when you realize that you have that child. Shannon, last night you realized as you were at Smith's T-Ball game.

02:53:41 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 1:

It's not T-Ball. It's coach pitch this year.

02:53:44 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

02:53:44 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

He's moved up. He's moved up. Last year was T-Vol. Okay. This year is coach pitch. But Smith-Lyle's dedication to the sport has remained the same from year to year. And that dedication is very low. Oh, really? You guys, it's so funny. Please, please, please promise me you will come to one of his games one time because I'd love it. Some of his teammates. And by the way, Smith is five, almost six. Okay? So just to give you like, you know, some backstory here. Some of his teammates are really into it. Like, you can tell their parents really push them to, like, know what they're doing. And they're practicing in the backyard after dinner at home. We don't really do that. Perhaps it's apparent because last night he was playing left field and then he was playing third base at one point. And my sweet five-year-old spent the majority of his time not catching balls, but drawing things in the dirt. throwing his glove up in the air and catching it and at one point actually ran away from where he was supposed to be watching third base um across totally across the baseball diamond to me sitting right there holding out his glove and i said smith smith what are you doing you gotta go back and he Mom, look, I made

02:55:00 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 4:

Homemade muck In my baseball club And I'm like Go back to third base But I have a great video By the way I'll have to post it On our Instagram

02:55:10 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 3:

What does the coach say Like when this happens Honestly

02:55:13 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 4:

Well the coach is pitching So the coach is busy Doing that And then there's another Coach out there Who will say Smith Smith Come on pay attention Pay attention But sometimes he's You know he can't Just watch Smith And I don't want to be The mom that's yelling From the sidelines Smith stand up I did that twice last night, and I was like, Smith, and I kind of made the motion for him to stand up. But, yeah, he's just in his own little world, and he's real happy about it.

02:55:38 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. Jacob was that for us. Jacob was a really good athlete, but he hated sports, and he still does. But he would be out there on the field, and next thing you know, they would go, where's the right fielder? And he'd be, like, on the swing sets, playing on them. I remember Chelsea one time, we were over at the park right by our house, and Chelsea one time was dealing with Luke, who was a baby at the time, and she's having to run and get him off the swings because the balls are getting hit to his position, which is no longer out there in the outfield.

02:56:14 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I was always jealous of the girls that could make dandelion crowns out in the outfield, and I would say, can you go make me one?

02:56:22 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:56:23 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 4:

At the end of the game, all the little girls would have low crowns. Yeah, like anything but actually participating in the game. And mind you, he's great when he's at bat. But if his team's not, I don't even know the lingo, up to bat or whatever. He is, you can tell I'm a great sports parent, but he is just not.

02:56:40 - 02:57:26 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't know if it's just maybe it's a baseball thing because baseball is kind of boring. But I think that there's other things that happens in sports where your kid just doesn't want to be there. Have you ever seen a kid in karate that doesn't want to be there? No. So we put Joe in karate, and there was a kid that was in Joe's karate class that was there. And it was Taekwondo, and it was this guy in West Bloomfield that had his Taekwondo thing off of Walnut Lake. Really nice guy. And the guy was really serious about it. It was like karate kid thing, man. It was like sensei. You had to call him sensei or whatever the whole deal is. And this one kid literally would punch him in the nuts to get out of class because he didn't want to do that. But the problem is that mom and dad were just trying to keep the kid active. What's up, Robin?

02:57:27 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo. Hi, everybody. I love you guys. We love you too, Robin.

02:57:32 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Robin?

02:57:33 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, I used to work for Ra-Ra in Rochester as a young, you know, in my early 20s. And these podium leagues, like age five and six, and I'm telling you, you had to make up your own rules in umpiring, too. because every hit would be a home run because they could never throw anyone out.

02:57:55 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. They're clearing the bases. Yep.

02:57:58 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, what's going on? It's a mojo in the morning.

02:58:01 - 02:58:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, good morning, everyone. Shannon, don't worry. That's not the only one. My daughter, Maya, who's six, I mean, let me tell you, she's a little social butterfly twirling around like a golden retriever, like, oh, there's a ball. Well, that's ball. And it's like, Maya. Yeah, because she literally, even in T-ball, she's like wanting to play around in the sand. And then she's great at batting, but catching, she wants to be out there. Let me check the grass, Mom.

02:58:27 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yes. At one point, I saw him. He was doing this dance, and you can't see it, but I'm doing it for Mojo. Yeah. And he came off, and I went to go give him his water bottle. I go, what were you doing out there? And he goes, Mom, all the pretty girls walk like this. And I'm like, oh, my God.

02:58:45 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:58:46 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you something that one of the teams did that we played against that was really smart? One of the parents realized the kids didn't want to do it, so they made it fun for them during the game. So they did walk-up music for the kids. See, that is so smart. And then they played music in between innings, and the kids were into it.

02:59:09 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 4:

Maybe I could do that. You should do that.

02:59:11 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 3:

Ask every kid what they want for walk-up music. Just bring a little Bose speaker or something. I have a huge speaker in my, yeah. What's up, Crystal?

02:59:18 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? You know, it's really funny. My daughter's 27 now, but she was five years old. Her sister's a track star, and she was running in with the little kids, and it was in Raleigh-Durham, 100-something degrees, in the stands. She's running, got her little number on. Next thing we know, she ran past the coach, off the track, up into the stands, sat down and said, you know what? She told me and my mother, I'm not doing this no more. I quit. She said, you know what? I'm done. And she literally just ran off the track, passed the coach. She's like, what are you doing? She said, I quit. That's my kind of kid.

02:59:53 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Jill, what did your kid do? So she was on a team opposing her.

03:00:00 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 6:

best friend who was covering second base. And my daughter was running from first to second base and her friend saw her and she got off the base and went running toward her and they met and just hugged and hugged and hugged. And the coaches are yelling, tag her, tag her.

03:00:19 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 8:

That's great. Actually, that's always the best too. I always realize when the kids play each other and they're at the same school and they're opposing each other and they don't even care about the game. It's like you might as well just have a play date at home, and it's so much more fun and easier. Cassidy, Shannon's son, Smith, is that kid in Little League. What's up?

03:00:39 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 7:

What's up?

03:00:40 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 8:

Hi.

03:00:41 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 7:

Hi. When my daughter was in first grade kindergarten, we started putting her in sports, and soccer is where she wanted to start. And when they'd have to run for the ball, nope, she'd lay down. It was time to take a nap. Perfect. Perfect response to any athletic activity.

03:00:58 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 8:

Would people also do this in the stands? Would they go, oh, my God, look at that kid taking a nap? And then you would join them and go, yeah, whose kid is that?

03:01:07 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, no. I was begging her to get up. It was embarrassing for sure.

03:01:13 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. You know what, though? That's all right. Every kid has got to, like, you know, have their own little style. That's their – that would be – what would Ted Lasso say about that? He would probably come up with some kind of cool thing to say about that.

03:01:26 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 4:

You've got to be well-rested for the next game.

03:01:28 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 8:

Exactly.
