Every dating app swap is another loss. Jim bros, big CEOs, straight up losers. So now the only app I open is Moto Casino Because at least there, I'm surrounded by winners, real winners, thousands of them. While everyone else is in the single swamp, I'm at home relaxing while stacking bonuses, hitting wins, and playing all my favorite Vegas-style games. Moto Casino, the only app worth your time.

00:01:39 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 1:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:02:20 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:22 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:24 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat. It's showtime! good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show excited for our kickoff to taylor swift which by the way a week from friday taylor at ford field two shows we've got your tickets and get ready because at seven o'clock the big announcement on how you can win taylor swift tickets obviously we're giving you a chance to go see taylor drake and ed Sharon's still at 6.30 and 9.30. But when you listen to Mojo in the morning, you have a chance to win even more Taylor Swift tickets. And the thing is, we're not going to tell you to call in and win. You're going to have to listen specifically for a certain cue to call, and that will be announced at 7 o'clock this morning. So if you can be with us at 7 a.m., I suggest you be with us. otherwise go back and listen to the podcast of it because we'll you know podcast it as soon as we make the big announcement but it's gonna be a good contest and it's a great chance for you to win if you're a big Taylor Swift fan you're gonna want these tickets I've had so many people ask me for Taylor Swift tickets and I kind of feel bad because I've had so many people over the years that have been so good to us as a show you know over the years being on the air we've had great people great listeners great friends great advertisers uh you know great uh hey i want to volunteer a time team i want to do some help for breaking entering christmas wish and guess what those great people are all doing at once now they're all asking for their favor returned with taylor swift ticket

00:05:00 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

they are all calling at the same time and it's interesting because and I love you all and I'm not I'm not actually calling out one specifically so I don't want anybody that has called me recently to feel like I am singling you out I'm singling all of you out I'm singling every one of you that has uh that has called um everybody is calling me right now to say that they really need help and if i told i told them in the past if they ever needed anything to call me up they're calling me now they're using it for this one And I mean, it's even gotten to a point where like the person that, you know, pretty much saved my life has called me asking me for tickets. And I mean, do you remember we did a breaking enter and Christmas wish a few years back and we needed to find a car to give to a family that the guy was selling his blood for cars and we ended up getting a car from a car dealer. That person's calling me. I mean, I said to him, I go, listen, I'm going to give my blood just to get Taylor Swift tickets. In all of your years, all of the events, all of the concerts, where does this rank? The amount of people that are reaching out. This has surpassed in a big way any Eminem concert that anybody has ever wanted tickets for. It used to be Eminem that was the big one or Jay-Z, Beyonce was a big one, too. But this is by far. Oh, the other ones, too, are boy bands.

00:06:39 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, when One Direction was in town, I remember it was crazy.

00:06:43 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

That was nuts. Remember NSYNC back in the day? I mean, you were probably one of the people.

00:06:48 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 2:

I was here. Begging for tickets, doing anything I could.

00:06:51 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. This is by far. And it's funny because last night I was having a conversation with the boss of the radio station here, Tony Travato. Talk to the PD. Don't program directly. Yeah. Tony Travato told me that he was on StubHub looking to buy tickets. Like, that shows you how crazy it is that the man who oversees 8 billion radio stations and has actually, you know, Taylor Swift's personal phone number is personally going to buy tickets. And do you know what the tickets are going for right now? I thought $1,000 was expensive. They're now like $2,000 plus for this thing.

00:07:28 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

For not the greatest seats either.

00:07:30 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

For like, honestly, you're in the building. Like decent seats. You know what I would do if I was going to, instead of buying the, what's it, 300 level of Ford Field, I'd stand out in front of the stadium and ask the guy to hold the door open just so I can listen. You see? It'd be free.

00:07:44 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, in some of these cities, there are like parking lot concerts that are happening. It's pretty cool.

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy. Welcome back, Shannon. How are you? Yeah.

00:07:53 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you? How are you? I'm good. I'm really good. I'm tired.

00:07:59 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 1:

I bet. Yeah. You know what's funny is you get a couple of days off and then you get used to, well, Although, wait a second. Hold on. You did not get used to sleeping in.

00:08:08 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

No. No. I heard about that. Let me tell you something. Who wakes up when, like, as the sun's coming up on vacation and doesn't sleep in? The man that I am second-guessing marrying now. Because this is just, he is a serial killer. Rise and shine.

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:08:29 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 2:

Six o'clock.

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 1:

Why does Wes get up that early?

00:08:32 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 2:

On the first day that we had no children with us, no plan, no jobs to wake up for, I hear his alarm go off and I'm like, are you effing kidding me? And I said, did you forget to turn your alarm off for work? Because that's what I thought had happened, you know? But then I'm like, wait a second. No, it's Saturday. And he goes, no, get up, get up. We got to get active. It's going to get hot. We have to be active to start our day. I'm like, are you joking? Like, I have dreamed of this vacation to just sleep. And he wanted to go to the gym. Okay, so the first day, he woke me up at 6 o'clock to go to the gym, okay? What? No, no, no. On vacation? On vacation! Then the second day, he woke me up. I said, please, please let me sleep in, okay? He thought 6.30 was appropriate.

00:09:25 - 00:09:26 | Unknown:

What?

00:09:26 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 2:

That day, he made me climb a damn mountain. We were in Arizona, so we climbed half this mountain. And then the third day, I was like, I go, Wes, honest to God, you go do your thing. And I just want to sleep. Like, I don't get to sleep when I'm home, right? 7 a.m. So we're going in half-hour increments. And he goes, I just want to go on a little bike ride before, you know, it gets really, really hot. Do you want to know what a little bike ride is for Wes? It's nine and a half miles.

00:09:54 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:09:55 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to die.

00:09:56 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

That's not on your kind of a bike that has like the-

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 2:

bell on it right no no oh my god that's it a destination workout yeah also you have plenty of time to call this off this answer right i know trust me trust me i think you should rethink

00:10:16 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 1:

by the way is this a sign of what the rest of your life is going to be like no no i just need

00:10:22 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

to learn to say no i don't think so i'm being way too nice still i uh i don't like that i don't like

00:10:27 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 1:

this about wes i think that uh he needs to understand that when we all have the ability to sleep in sleeping in for us is 7 a.m you know what i mean or or 8 a.m at the most it's not like i'm gonna sleep in until noon i what time does he wake up for his his job um he's usually up by about seven okay seven seven thirty so he was he looking at this going to arizona thing as we're gonna go out there and we're gonna you know uh because people go to arizona and i don't understand my wife does this she'll go her friends all live in arizona she grew up in tucson and uh she'll go there and just like hike mountains upon mountains and to me that nothing sounds fun about hiking a

00:11:11 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 2:

mountain he loves being active and he loves using the opportunity you know he's in a we're in a beautiful place to be active and to be fair it was super super hot there but like by the end of or by the middle of the day, excuse me, it was like 105 degrees. Oh, jeez. And so you couldn't do anything outside. Megan, you're kind of a place. But it was funny because, you know, in the afternoons we would hang out at the hotel pool and we'd be having some cocktails. And he's like, don't you feel good about having all these drinks because you already worked out today? I said, no.

00:11:38 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 1:

He's one of those. I don't, actually. He's one of those. Listen, I work out this much so I can eat whatever I want and drink whatever I want. I have a friend, our really good friend, Steve Hoke. Dr. Steve Hoke, he's a dentist, and Dr. Steve Hoke and Chelsea and I with his wife Karen and their families would go on vacations together, and I would be like, where's Steve? And it would be early, and Karen would be like, he's on his 32nd mile of running right now. I'm like, what?

00:12:09 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 2:

No. You're a psycho. Psycho.

00:12:12 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy that somebody would want to do that. Why would you want to go on a vacation just to hurt your body? I want to hurt my body in the bed, like with a bad bed. I want my back to hurt me from that.

00:12:27 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 2:

I was like, just so you know, if you're waking me up this early, I'm probably going to fall asleep at 8 o'clock. You know what I mean? You're going to be wiped.

00:12:35 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 3:

All I can imagine is just him waking up and flinging the blinds open. He does.

00:12:39 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

That's honest to God, Kev. That's what he does. He's so happy and chipper as soon as he wakes up in the morning.

00:12:45 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, question for the audience here. Question. Should Shannon call it off right now? Well, Megan might have a point on this one here. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. This is interesting. Did you know this about him, or is this something new that you're just learning from this going away together? Because I know you guys have done, over the course of your guys' relationship, you guys have gone on trips together.

00:13:05 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 2:

We've done trips before, but he has never been this, like, hardcore about the wake-up time. Ever.

00:13:12 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:13:13 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 2:

So, I'm like, wait. Is he sending you a message? Now there's a ring on my finger, and you think this is okay.

00:13:18 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

Do you know that I've heard of these couples that go on these cross-country road trips? Matter of fact, there was one in the news today, these cross-country road trips where the man is trying to kill the woman. Is there any chance that...

00:13:31 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 2:

Might be the other way around.

00:13:32 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

You're going to kill him. That's great. What's up, Dawn? How you doing? Good.

00:13:38 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

How are you?

00:13:39 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on?

00:13:41 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 3:

Just driving to work.

00:13:43 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What did you want to say?

00:13:44 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, I want to tell Shannon, because I also go to Arizona and Vegas. 6 a.m. Vegas time, Arizona time, it's really 9 o'clock our time. So, I mean, it's just really good.

00:13:56 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Do not defend him. Don't you dare defend him.

00:13:59 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm a freaking lunatic too, Dave. That's all. Thanks, Don.

00:14:04 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

By the way, can I say something to you, Don? Because you go back to Vegas for a second. And you're right, yes, 6 a.m. is 9 a.m. here. But in Vegas, who's waking up at 6 a.m. Vegas time?

00:14:17 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:14:18 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay. In all reality, my first two days there, it takes me a couple days before I get into Vegas time.

00:14:23 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 1:

Really? I'm right into it. My thing is, I end up not knowing what time it is. Sometimes I'll actually go to bed at 6 a.m., you know, from being out all night.

00:14:32 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's true. That's true. Yeah. Yeah. But, yes, I'm wide awake. I can't fall asleep. My husband, on the other hand, is still new. But, nope, not me.

00:14:41 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. Jackie, what's up?

00:14:45 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 3:

I just want Shannon to know that she's marrying a sociopath. I mean, it's... Why would you be up that late? That's straight up. No trial, straight jail.

00:14:58 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning's...

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 2:

00:15:10 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 4:

He is for sure sleeping right now. Call his ass up.

00:15:13 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:17:47 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 2:

Shannon is back this morning. Megan was filling in for you yesterday.

00:17:53 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Megan.

00:17:54 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Did a very nice job of holding things down for you. We got a little chatty at times, so the dirties would go at like 40. There always has to be one comment. No, I said we got a little chatty because it wasn't us getting into the dirties on time. But she did a great job. Did she leave you notes? I know she always...

00:18:13 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 3:

She didn't leave me a note. You didn't leave her a note? That's okay. I didn't leave her a note either. Fair. I know you guys saw this news. Al Pacino is expecting his fourth child at the age of 82.

00:18:27 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:18:27 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 3:

The legendary actor and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Norl Fella, I believe is how you pronounce her last name, or pregnant. They've been together since April of last year, and she's pretty far along from what I'm hearing. She's already eight months into this pregnancy. So if you do the math, because I know you're about to, by the time this baby graduates high school, Al Patino will be 100%.

00:18:48 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there's always been a battle between him and Robert De Niro.

00:18:53 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, Robert De Niro. Is that what it is? Just had a kid.

00:18:55 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 2:

I know, but do you think this is for that own purpose? It's the first thing that came to my mind. First off I look at this girl that is With him and I'm thinking To myself He looks like at least De Niro Kind of looks like he's still getting around Al Pacino looks like He is not great I mean listen I loved Al Pacino he's great in his day But what does a 29 year old see In a old Withering you know wrinkled man like this green is that what it is it's pure just to get his child in this world and she gets paid

00:19:37 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 3:

then the rest of her life yeah wow yeah a journalist by the name of aj benza also does a podcast used to work at uh tmz oh is that who he is yeah aj benza from tmz okay well he says he has firsthand knowledge of what caused jamie fox's stroke he says it was a hundred percent the COVID shot. I worked my butt off to get... a story about why what happened to jamie foxx because it was all baloney what they were reporting he's playing pickleball he's uh responding on instagram no he's not people do that for you it's all lies i had somebody in the room who let me know that jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot he did not want the shot but the movie he was on he was

00:20:24 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 4:

pressured to get it interesting he also goes on to say that tmz will not report about the jamie fox you know being in a stroke uh condition because of uh a cover-up on the part of the fact that they were getting advertising from pfizer or whatever so he goes on to kind of call them

00:20:46 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 1:

call them out for it i'll grab that from yeah because it was about a five minute interview

00:20:50 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 4:

It's interesting because he at one point, and I don't know if maybe he left because he became one of these conspiracy guys, but he at one point was like one of their biggest sources of all their stories back in the day. And that was like five years ago where you would see like a story come out and it would be like a huge breaking story. And it was A.J. Benza that was behind it.

00:21:12 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 1:

A newly released batch of emails and other documents from Jeffrey Epstein shed more light on the late pedophiles' vast network of celebrity friends, including magician David Blaine, who had several dinners at Epstein's home, and supermodel Irina Shayk. Epstein also had phone calls with Tommy Mottola, obviously a big music industry exec. While one email referenced Chris Rock, he has denied ever meeting with Epstein. And this new batch of emails, which was obtained by the Daily Mail, show Epstein met or planned to socialize with a wide spectrum of rich and powerful people in the worlds of politics and finance and showbiz. None of the celebrities named in this latest batch of documents is suspected of having ties to Epstein's child sex activities. Just there was some sort of relationship or communication there. However, many of the meetings, planned or otherwise, took place, this is interesting to me, after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to felony solicitation of prostitution of underage girls. So people were aware, and they still had communication with him. And just days before Disneyland's Splash Mountain is set to close to make way for a Princess and the Frog re-theme, A TikTok filmed earlier this week shows a rider jumping out of one of the moving boats. And you, I mean, you see the, have you guys all been on Splash Mountain? Yes. So, you know, at the end, I mean, there's that big drop. And this guy just like jumps out of the thing into the water on the side. Splash Mountain's final day of operation in Disneyland is slated for today. And then they're going to revamp it to that Tiana's Bayou adventure. And that's scheduled to open at some point next year. But a lot of people got this on video. And, of course, it went viral on TikTok. You can check it out along with all of today's Dirty on the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

I know the pressure is on.

00:23:46 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 4:

I like that you are kind of like the quiet, silent type that just keeps on winning. And I know part of it is probably because you're still under the weather, aren't you, from this past weekend?

00:23:58 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I've never been called quiet my entire life.

00:24:01 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what? Quiet to us. Maybe we need to see that other side. We'll have to see what we can do. We've got Sarah on with us is your challenger. Carrie, say hello to Sarah.

00:24:13 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Sarah. Hi.

00:24:15 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we're going to play the five at 655. You ready, Sarah? I am ready. All right. We're locking up Carrie in a soundproof area. It says here that, Sarah, you are a lawyer. And what kind of law do you practice?

00:24:33 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 3:

So I work for the government. I work for the courts.

00:24:35 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. Okay. All right. Will we ever be in handcuffs in front of you one day?

00:24:41 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 3:

I hope not. I hope not, too.

00:24:43 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 4:

If we are, whisper to us, I played the five at 6.55.

00:24:48 - 00:24:49 | Unknown:

I definitely will.

00:24:49 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

The Miami Heat and the

00:26:18 - 00:26:25 | Speaker 1:

00:26:25 - 00:26:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Sarah, it was two out of five

00:26:28 - 00:27:07 | Speaker 1:

correct. Two out of five is what you gotta beat, okay? Okay. Alright, you ready? Question number one. Pink posted a nearly nude photo to social media to talk about her joy of showering outdoors. 00:28:18 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 2:

00:28:19 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 1:

But you did great, you got a prize We're going to set you up with a parting gift. We'll set you up with a $50 gift card to Tabooli. Get some good Middle Eastern food. Hang on the phone. We'll get you set up with that, and we will play again tomorrow morning. It's Mojo in the mornings. 5 is 6.55. All right, guys. It is time. It is 7 o'clock right now. And we are very proud to announce that the Mojo in the Morning Show, along with Channel 955 in Detroit, 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and 92.5 KISS FM, are welcoming and presenting the one, the only, Taylor Swift. Woo, woo, woo, woo. Yeah, yeah, yo, yo. Listen to that. That's how big of a show this is. I mean, I can't believe it. That it got Megan to be excited about it. You know what? Even she's excited about this.

00:29:25 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm happy for the Swifties. I get it. I get it.

00:29:29 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know what? Listen, I've become a Swifty after this. I have no idea why, but I think it's the mania that's behind this whole thing.

00:29:37 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 2:

Can I let you guys in on a little secret?

00:29:39 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:29:40 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 2:

There's a Taylor Swift song I like.

00:29:42 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 1:

Which one? Hold on a second.

00:29:43 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 2:

This one, Antihero. I think this song is really good

00:29:46 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I'll be honest with you I actually Probably like Maybe 25% of her music But I like it more now

00:30:00 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 2:

If I had a pair of tickets that I could sell on StubHub, if I could actually have the tickets to be able to make some money, imagine what you could do with all that stuff. People, by the way, are going crazy for these tickets. They're doing anything and everything to try to win tickets to see Taylor Swift. And here's where we are going to announce our contest that is going to give you a chance to win tickets. And we've got a ton of them between now and next Friday. We will be doing this contest. So we'll be giving you a shot to win tickets to both Friday night, June 9th, and then Saturday night, June 10th, Taylor Swift Concerts. You ready for the contest? The contest is called, ready for this? Give me a drum roll, please, here. The contest is called Two for Taylor. Yeah, wait, that's in, hold on a second. Let me do that one more time. One more time. Everybody, here we go. The contest is called Two for Taylor. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah For Detroit's Channel 955, after we get off the air, you can listen on the iHeartRadio app, and you hear two Taylor Swift songs to be played in their entirety, after the second one plays, we will be taking the 95th caller who will win a pair of Taylor Swift tickets. So the songs have to play back to back. Yes. And here's the thing. they don't necessarily have to play consecutively. Like, in the morning show, we don't play, like, on our show, we don't play two songs back-to-back. Like, when I mean back-to-back, I mean, like, okay, here's a song. Now let's go into another song. If we at all play two Taylor Swift songs in their entirety during our show, that's what you got to do is you got to do the 95th color. So this is actually kind of interesting because I was thinking about this when our boss came up with this two for Taylor. I thought well wait a second that kind of hampers us a little bit because on our show we play music but we don't necessarily go here we go it's 10 in a row let's play some music here right now like some other shows do but that just means that if I play a Taylor Swift song and then we start talking a little bit and kind of doing our stuff and then another Taylor Swift song comes up and it could happen who knows 20 minutes later 30 minutes later could be an hour later could be two hours later

00:32:56 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 3:

who knows but if you want the tickets that bad you'll listen

00:32:57 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 2:

exactly right thank you jinx you both said at the same time what do you guys think of this contest you like this idea I do I love this idea I do I like it because you have to obviously listen to win there are times when we sit there as a show and we make people you know do crazy stuff that you know could potentially hurt their bodies this one not is gonna hurt your body unless unless your body is, you know, hurt because you're standing there listening to the radio the whole time and you're not doing anything.

00:33:29 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's not one of those I got to have the super Taylor knowledge. I got to know, you know, what she had for fourth grade lunch that one time. Just got to be listening to the radio.

00:33:38 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. It's a fair shot. It's fair for everyone, right? All right, so two for Taylor kicks off right now. So sometime between now and next Friday, actually many times, you'll have a chance to win. Now, can I give you this? I'm going to guarantee and our boss actually told me that I can do this

00:33:56 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 3:

yes alright alright

00:33:57 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 2:

contest rules are no contest rules when I'm around that sometime today we will have a winner now I'm not saying sometime this morning I'm saying sometime today we will definitely have a winner today so there will be winners and matter of fact there will be probably multiple winners so you have a chance to win two for Taylor get ready for this one and get ready to Lydia our phone executive fun lady.

00:34:25 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 1:

Lady?

00:34:26 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 2:

00:34:27 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 1:

00:34:28 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 2:

00:34:39 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 1:

Take a look at our phone lines. They're already blowing up.

00:34:41 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 2:

All right. I got to stop this thing.

00:39:02 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 2:

Sorry.

00:39:03 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Samantha?

00:39:04 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 2:

Poor mom's going to have a heart attack.

00:39:07 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mom. Hello? I have some good news for you.

00:39:12 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 2:

What's that?

00:39:13 - 00:39:14 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:39:15 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

This is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:39:18 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:39:19 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 3:

And you're on five lies to tell your mom.

00:39:21 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm going to kill her. She's crying.

00:39:24 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 3:

Are you crying?

00:39:26 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Yes. Oh, I'm going to kill her.

00:39:30 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 3:

What do you want to say to Samantha?

00:39:32 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to kick your butt when I see you. You love me. I love you. Oh, my goodness.

00:39:40 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, Mom, congratulations to you because Sam just got you a nice prize. Oh, wow. Thank you. So, Sam, what do you got to say to your mom?

00:39:48 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm graduating, so don't freak out. All right. Oh, thank you.

00:39:55 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 3:

Are you thanking me or are you thanking God right now?

00:39:57 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Both. It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:40:02 - 00:40:03 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:40:03 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mom. Mojo in the Morning. So Luke graduated this year. And what I've experienced when you have a child that graduates from school is it costs you a lot of money. Because you get invited to a ton of grad parties. so luke and my family we've been invited to i think right now 38 grad parties and this is not just here in our area but it's uh all across you know the state and our friends that we have a lot of friends that live in arizona and we got a lot of friends that live in uh illinois and i think the problem is that we all had our kids at the same time or we have similar friends you know With kids at the same time And then you get invited to the grad parties And it just becomes like a Oh crap, we are going to Not only have every weekend full But

00:40:59 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 3:

Countless amounts of money Lots of calories That you're going to be consuming

00:41:06 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 2:

I went to Kroger And I bought like a pack of grad cards Everybody's getting the same grad card From us That's what my mom did It's basically a money holder

00:41:17 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I remember that she would line them up on the kitchen counter, and we would put, I think, I don't even remember, like 20 bucks in each card or whatever, and I would go down the line and sign them all, so I would have them to just go.

00:41:28 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's, like, the dilemma, too. Like, how much do I really like these kids? Like, am I not going to, how much do I like, and I'm going to judge it. This is how I'm going to judge it, too. And I'm saying this to everybody that's got grad parties coming up, okay? This goes out to, you know, Vince Anderson and goes out to Tim Gale. It goes out to, you know, the Meijer family, the Meijer's family. If your food is good, your kids are getting a lot of money. Okay? There we go. If your food is good, your kids are getting a lot of money.

00:41:59 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 3:

How do you know that before you go?

00:42:01 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to bring money. I'm going to keep it in my pocket. Oh, okay. You're doing this on the spot. And then you're going to see me over there in the corner, and I'm going to go, and I'm going to go, all right, that's a 50, that's a 100, that's whatever. You know what I mean? I might go up that far. You know what I mean? I'm going to go to the bank, and I'm going to get a bunch of cash. They're going to think, by the way, the people at the Chase Bank that I bank at, whenever I go get cash, they all go, you going to Vegas again? I always do that. And I'm like, or they think that when I ask for singles, because I like to keep singles in my car. So when I go to the car wash, I can like, you know, give tips to the guys that dry the car and stuff. And they'll go, where are you going? I'm like, don't you dare even think that I'm going to go to a strip club with singles. I would never do that. I'm not that cheap. But okay. So let me tell you about one particular invitation that we got. And I won't say the kid's name. So one of the invitations that we got, the invite on there for the grad party also attached banking info for the kid. It said with, and I won't say the kid's name, starting school in August, he will be in need of money for housing, books, and all the things that require your money on freshman year. Here are his Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal info. And they sent the Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal info to go along with that. Now, is that just a smart invitation? Or is that just like really asking a little bit too much? Is that overstepping by asking that?

00:43:40 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so.

00:43:41 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 2:

Kev, new dish into the show. Do you remember what you got for graduate? Where'd you go to school again? Detroit School for the Fine and Performing Arts. All right. In what class was that? What year? 07. So what did you get? How much money did you end up getting at graduation?

00:43:56 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't remember, to be honest with you. I don't think it was like a crazy amount, but I knew I was happy. But as a kid, that's kind of all you want. Like, give me the money. And with all of these, you know, like cash apps and Venmo and PayPal, all of these options, I'm just making it easier on you.

00:44:13 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 2:

So maybe that's what I do for the good food at the parties. Maybe I'll send them money through, I don't know, Zelle or something like that.

00:44:22 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

It's definitely not as personable because I do like writing in cards. I like writing a message and handing over a tangible card. But it's a heck of a lot easier than going to the bank, spending six bucks on a card. These kids are not trying to read. To just do Venmo. I don't know. I feel like we're on the cusp of it being poo-pooed on and it being totally normal. Bro, nobody's trying to read your card.

00:44:47 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to just be the guy that says it.

00:44:48 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

The kid doesn't even read it.

00:44:49 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 1:

They don't care, bro. They'll make it seem like they read it. I write nice messages and cards. I'm not giving you a card. By the way, can I say this? Not giving you a card.

00:44:57 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Ever. Can I say this? What? Shannon.

00:45:00 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

You were the first graduation card That Luke got And Shannon was the first money That Luke got Which by the way Did you get an invitation yet Sent to your house

00:45:10 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not Did not What Where's the card What You got invited I really didn't get invited

00:45:16 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 1:

Luke is not having a grad party But she did this out of the goodness Of her heart Megan I'm gonna get on Luke for that Chelsea's been on Luke about that Cause you sent You actually sent him A very nice card Home with me And Tony Travato also did too, and then he got a card in the mail from Fred from the Fred Show. Oh, that's so nice. Who, by the way, must be making a lot of money, because you should have seen how much money he put in that card.

00:45:39 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, Fred, if you hear this, I'm graduating too. From being a cold-hearted bitch.

00:45:48 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 7:

Give me money.

00:45:53 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Nadia, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's happening?

00:45:56 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. I'm sitting here

00:45:59 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 7:

I'm listening to you guys, and I'm cracking up. I'm like, Mother, oh, my God, man, you're starting to sound more Calvinian.

00:46:07 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

00:46:08 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 7:

All I'm thinking is when you go to a wedding, and you base what you're putting in the envelope on the food and the alcohol, and then if the food is not good, you kind of take out some of the money, or if it's really good, you kind of put more money in the envelope, but you don't steal it. So, yeah, you're on your way to getting your Calvinian.

00:46:26 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Is that kind of how it happens? Is that the deal? You guys judge how much you're going to give based on how good the food is and how good the party is? Okay.

00:46:37 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going to lie. Yeah. I love that.

00:46:40 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I think that should be the way. I think that if you put on a good party, you should get paid for that party. You should get more money for that party.

00:46:47 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 6:

You sure do. Have a good day.

00:46:49 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 1:

You too. Take care of yourself. Hey, Brandy, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:46:53 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, guys. But I was calling in because it's great that parents want to do that and make it easier for all the guests that are coming. But I want my kids to appreciate that everybody came on their time off to spend time with them to celebrate them. So my kids have to do their thank you cards before they're allowed to have their money.

00:47:14 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's actually really good. Chelsea did that with Joe and made sure that Joe the next day had to do all the thank you cards. because he had the party. Exactly. With Jacob and Luke, they both did not want parties. They just wanted the money that it cost to throw the party, which they were very smart on that, their negotiations of the deal. But you've got to make sure that your kids send out the invitations, and I've got to get on Luke about sending out the – or I'm sorry, not invitations, but the thank you notes. I've got to get on Luke. Exactly. I just found out Shannon did not get a thank you card yet.

00:47:48 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I don't need a thank you card.

00:47:50 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 1:

He's going to zeal it to her.

00:47:51 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 4:

I really don't.

00:47:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 1:

He'll message – By the way, that might be the way, too. If you do this on Venmo, you can actually send a note back to them. That will be your thank you card.

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 3:

There you go.

00:48:01 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 1:

Would that be bad?

00:48:03 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 4:

No. You don't come on. That would be. I just don't want a thank you. He does not need to send me a thank you card.

00:48:07 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 1:

No, he needs to send you a thank you card.

00:48:09 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 4:

I get it. As a parent, you want him to do it first.

00:48:10 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 1:

First off, that was really honestly nice, and this is why you're my favorite on the show, is that you remembered my son, where the other people, you know, like, I'll give Kev a pass because he's new. I wasn't even here yet. But Megan's been around for a while. KP and Lydia, you know. Misfit Steve, listen, the guy's driving a car that barely runs. I'm not going to ask him for any money. Jill, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:48:37 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. I don't really think it's tacky because when I graduated almost 19 years ago. I know. Moment of silence. They just gave us checks or cash, but technology is advanced. So, like, that's just what we do now. Like, hey, cash at me And then, you know, the kids don't have to send a thank you They can just send the thumbs up emoji

00:48:56 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 4:

No, I think you do You just send a thank you

00:48:59 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not I'm kidding about that And the thank you Also, you said 19 years You meant 19 months, didn't you? No

00:49:11 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 5:

Babe, I'm trying to be nice

00:49:14 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was just trying to help you there Krista, what's going on?

00:49:17 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

00:49:18 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 1:

We're good, we're talking about grad uh gifts and how much you give and giving it through cash apps and stuff yeah we did that

00:49:27 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 5:

with our son's house uh last year we did put a little insert and um just like you know nothing is expected but if you feel inclined we did share his venmo but we also did an amazon wish list um just for like stuff for his dorm or ideas and for a lot of out-of-state family it was nice just You know, if you're going to spend the money, get him stuff that he knows he can use.

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I like that. I like that a lot. That's actually kind of like a wish list. And you know what I'm bummed out about this year, too? And this makes me really sad.

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 3:

Bed Bath & Beyond's not around, and that was the beauty of when you go away to college, that you could go to Bed Bath & Beyond and just load up two carts full of stuff. If there was more kids going away to college, that store would have probably made it. Who knows? Esau, what's happening?

00:50:16 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Mojo? How are you guys doing?

00:50:17 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 3:

We're doing good. What's happening?

00:50:20 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my grandfather used to go to weddings all the time, leave the envelope open, always have cash in the envelope, and depending on how good the food was, that he would take money or put money back in.

00:50:32 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Guys, what is wrong with you?

00:50:36 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 3:

That's his grandpa.

00:50:37 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 2:

It was a thing to this day that I picked up from him. So my wife and I always go to weddings, and I was like, if the food is good, if they're serving steak, yeah, they get extra $100. If they're serving just chicken and one side, I'm taking $100 back.

00:50:53 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 3:

So you don't give them the card until the end of the wedding, until you see what the food looks like?

00:50:59 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 2:

Exactly, exactly. And the drink selection, if it's top shelf.

00:51:03 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes. See, but I think you're doing this opposite, though. No, drinks are a big one in this one here. If they're serving well wine, and that's it.

00:51:11 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 1:

But, see, if they're serving well wine and chicken, they probably need the money a little more.

00:51:16 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

Ah, no, they're putting money in their pocket. You know how much money these people have, right?

00:51:20 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, exactly. Especially Arabic weddings. Yes. You know, they're over the top. I mean, come on, you didn't need the fireworks there. Just give me a better thing.

00:51:31 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 3:

I remember the other thing that I've realized, too, with some of these grad parties is trying to arrange, because Luke goes to a Catholic school where the kids are spread out all over the place.

00:51:41 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:51:41 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 3:

It's trying to look at a map and go, all right, I got to be in Oxford at this time, Lake Orient at this time, Bloomfield Hills at this time, Rochester at this time. Like, you literally have to map it out. And the sad part is you don't necessarily get to spend a good amount of time at people's grad parties. You want to hit a couple. And there's a couple of grad parties that I'm like, I want to spend a lot of time there. Like, I want to actually, you know, really enjoy it. Yeah. Get to a point where they're kicking me out at the end of the night. You got to pull $40 out of a car just for gas. For an Uber. Because I'm going to be drinking. We're going to have some fun. Mojo in the Morning. Find us on Instagram. It's Mojo in the Morning. mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 now i have to let everybody know that we are doing this contest and this contest is two for taylor so if you hear two taylor swift songs played back to back and they have to be played in their entirety so that means like when shannon does the dirty if i play like a clip of a taylor swift song or which i'm about to have you do just a you know short piece of it just for the thing that's not playing the song that's not playing the whole song so i I just want everybody to kind of be aware of that, but this contest could be happening at any moment.

00:52:57 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

00:52:58 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 3:

What do you got?

00:52:58 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 1:

Play a Taylor Swift song, please, actually.

00:53:00 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Okay, what do you got?

00:53:01 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 1:

So this is a crazy phenomenon. Swifties that are lucky enough to attend the Eros tour are suffering from amnesia after the show. Post-concert amnesia. It is absolutely a real thing. An example, a woman from New York said she's dreamed about seeing Taylor for so long that it was difficult to retain what was happening at this past weekend show that she attended. The woman said if she didn't have the videos that her friends took of her at the concert, she probably would have told everybody that it didn't happen. Like she does not remember hardly anything from the show. Another woman who attended Taylor's show in Philly a couple of weeks back said it felt like an out-of-body experience as though it didn't really happen. And doctors say there is good evidence to explain this phenomenon. If you're at a concert of somebody that you just love, surrounded by thousands upon thousands of excited other people listening to music that you have an emotional connection to, a lot of emotions are happening in your body and your brain all at once. It's exhausting for the brain to experience All of that high, high emotion Which means nothing will stand out Nothing about the show will stand out to you And another expert said People's brains react to extreme Positive emotions similarly To how they react to negative stress So the overload can make it Harder to form memories but if you try to not Like jump up and down And scream so much It will actually help you Retain what is

00:54:35 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

happening in front of you i never would have thought isn't that nuts yeah that's interesting

00:54:38 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 1:

kim kardashian is supposedly interested in somebody new but she is trying to take things slowly and we do not know who this mystery man is but a source telling me she's not officially dating anybody but there is somebody she is very interested in and so far there have only been subtle flirtations between them but they have not actually gone out on a date yet kim very interested Let's get started.

00:55:00 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 3:

pursuing things with this mystery person, but she still wants to keep it under the radar in the early stages. She's just not ready to be seen on a date with anybody for the time being. She doesn't want to make it a big deal. She knows that once she's seen out with this person, things will get blown out of proportion really quickly, and she really wants to see where things could go here first. Pink on Instagram posting a nude photo of herself showering outside. I mean, she is nude, except she had little stars and heart drawings covering. Her Christmas and her boobies She captioned the post Lake weekends and a new ridiculous bathing suit If you haven't showered outdoors While your husband tried to scare you Every five minutes You haven't lived She hashtagged this banana boobies by the way And I don't know what that means

00:55:46 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh in the first post she has like a bathing suit on That's semi nude Like it's a series of photos and it's got bananas

00:55:53 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay I was like why banana boobies I only saw the one photo Have you ever seen banana boobies

00:55:59 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 5:

I actually saw this story this morning

00:56:08 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 2:

That I was thinking about sharing with you guys But I didn't want the ladies on the show To be upset with me But it talks about what do the perfect breasts Look like And they had women and men Judge the perfect breasts So they kind of came up with it And it was interesting because I was thinking to myself Are there any imperfect breasts? And I guess banana boobies might be. I don't know. There are? What is an imperfect breast?

00:56:34 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 5:

It's me sober in the bathroom with a not fogged up mirror. Those are the imperfect breasts. Oh, this bathing suit is very strange. But I kind of like, it's weird, but I kind of like it. I don't know.

00:56:47 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 6:

Ugh.

00:56:48 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. It's like mesh, but it's got bananas over her.

00:56:52 - 00:56:52 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:56:52 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 2:

It's a no for me.

00:56:54 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:56:54 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 2:

It looks like spoiled bananas.

00:56:55 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Offset sharing a very interesting video of Cardi B. He's worshiping his wife, telling her how much he's missed her as he grabs, slaps, and even jiggles her bare booty. She's face down on a bed in the video with her leggings kind of pulled down to expose her. I didn't realize her booty was so tattooed. But he is just grabbing and slapping and swishing and fans of the couple, by the way, slamming their overly excessive PDA saying, we don't need to see that. You can keep that.

00:57:31 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 2:

Why are they following if they don't like it?

00:57:34 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Like, you know, that's not out of the norm for them, right?

00:57:37 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 2:

Those are people that are haters. What's that?

00:57:40 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 3:

One more time. One more time.

00:57:42 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

00:57:43 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:57:56 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday on our show, the new guy, Kev, brought up something very interesting that caused for some problems at home.

00:58:06 - 00:58:07 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:58:07 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 2:

It's, by the way, Ben. Let's see here. He worked last week for five days, and then he's done what? But, oh, so on day number six of being in the studio with us and on the air with us, Kev got in trouble by his girlfriend.

00:58:23 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

What? I was not here. I did not. Someone needs to catch me up.

00:58:27 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 2:

They didn't cover this in orientation. They did not go on. So we were talking about Kev's son, and for those that don't know, Kev has a son, and he has a son with a woman who in a second here, you're going to actually hear her voice because it was really wild because his baby's mom, his son's mom, ended up calling into the show yesterday.

00:58:49 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:58:50 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 2:

This was actually pretty intense. You missed this. You were away yesterday. You know what? I'm going to play this.

00:58:54 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 3:

I have show FOMO.

00:58:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to play this for you. Okay. But here's the problem. Kev learned the hard way that you don't have the baby mama on before you have the girlfriend on. Or the fiance, the soon-to-be fiance. No one told me. The soon-to-be wife. I should have knew this. I should have known this. Yeah, this was not a smart move on this one. I was feeling this one for you. And when I went home and I talked to Chelsea about this, she said, because we're going to dinner this week, right? So we're going to dinner this week. And she's like, maybe it should just be Kevin's girlfriend, Sherelle, and I going to dinner. Can you imagine Chelsea schooling her on stuff? I think that would be smart. My wife would be good at that. So all right, so this is yesterday. So we were talking, Shannon, this actually references you, Talking about how you and your child's dad, your ex-husband, do a great job of co-parenting. And you guys actually will go to events and there will be times you guys will sit together so that it makes it more normal for the kids. Well, here's Kev talking about his dilemma with his.

01:00:00 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 1:

Josiah's mom and I have never been together. So Josiah has never seen or felt or experienced what it is to have both parents there to love you at the same time, support you at the same time, show up to events at the same time. He's never had that. And he's made mention of it several times. I remember one time when we were deciding what school to take him to, I just had to be like kindergarten or something like that. Her and I showed up separately. he was with me and immediately when he saw his mom he grabbed both of our hands and got in the middle of us and that's a moment i'll never forget he's always kind of you know long for that and yearning for that so this all comes up because this saturday and big shout out to the biggest in the game that's what that's a nickname for my son josiah he uh is really into art and he's into stop motion design and animation and he won the best of show award at the 55th michigan student Film Festival this Saturday. Whoa, that's unbelievable. Yeah, it's pretty dope. So this Saturday, we'll be at the DIA. He'll go on stage. He'll get his award and that whole thing. So when Shannon was talking about graduation and her husband, love that so much, immediately I fast-forwarded my brain and my life to this Saturday. And this being such a huge moment in Josiah's life, I don't want to have happened what's happened years and years and years, especially last year when he graduated fourth grade. he walks on stage and he's got to look in both directions to try to see my side of the family and mom's side of the family and when you get off of the stage well who do i run to first do i run the mom first i run a dad first and there's a lot of pressure i feel like who does he typically run to first mom he does yeah but it depends though because it just depends do you ever have like a candy bar in your hand open up my trench coat with all his favorite things inside

01:01:50 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 2:

i actually i actually do that with my dogs i actually have to prove to chelsea that they like me i'll get treats out of the uh the little jar that she's got a dog treat you got a finger full of peanut butter okay so so you're thinking about sitting next year i'm ready to be done with

01:02:08 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 1:

the pettiness man like it's time to choose joe and whatever we're feeling put it to the side and

01:02:14 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

just like let's just sit together i hate i hate to uh to to call her this because i don't know her name and i don't i want to i don't want her to name well i if only if it's okay with her but can i call her baby mama no i don't like that no how about josiah's mom beautiful there you go josiah's mom so does josiah's mom um want to sit next to you i mean she may not want to sit next

01:02:35 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 1:

honestly so i was gonna call her this week and say like hey like how do you feel if we just all sit together yeah and we don't have to lie i don't know if it'll be issues because i feel like we're cordial cord cordial yeah cordially invited that's a big word for us i feel like we're cordial but there is still like that underlining energy that you just you just feel it does uh yours and her

01:03:00 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 2:

families get along with each other because that's got to be something too yeah everybody's cool for

01:03:05 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 1:

the most part like there's no beef there's no drama it's just kind of like one of those things

01:03:08 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 2:

where you don't address it yeah then it doesn't get addressed um okay so this is interesting so um and by the way i want to hear both sides of this i want to hear people that their parents can't sit in the same area together because maybe they just would end up in a fight with each other kp how does it work in your family with your mom and dad who have been divorced for some time do like at graduation for your uh your brother did uh did dad uh and mom both stay by each other or

01:03:37 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 3:

no they do not sit by each other and honestly it's been like that since uh my dad left when she was pregnant so we they we do separate things plus my mom like i mean dad goes to to some things but mom is basically the cheerleader for everything she goes to everything yeah so would it be weird

01:03:54 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

to you if you looked out in the audience okay you're doing your thing whatever and you looked out and saw them sitting next to each other because I know your mom's got a boyfriend your dad's got a wife too doesn't yes yeah so would it be weird if the four of them were sitting by each

01:04:06 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 3:

other um so this actually happened once and it was when I graduated college a couple years ago and Oakland yeah and it was a drive-in graduation and it was so awkward because both my mom and dad and me were in the same car and that had not happened in like five years so it was like so interesting and it was like small talk between my mom and dad and and then we're like hey you

01:04:31 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 1:

want to get ice cream after and i'm like heck no that's another layer because after you have these celebratory events like do you guys go celebrate afterwards yeah what do you do by the

01:04:43 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 2:

way that that's interesting that you had to do a drive-thru one because we did so many drive-thru Weddings that year, I remember as a show I could not imagine, was he Was he in the passenger seat? My dad was in the back

01:04:54 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 3:

And my mom was in the front driving

01:04:55 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 2:

I love it, your mom's the boss

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Get in the back, mama KP

01:05:00 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 4:

Dad, you'd be lucky if you were in the trunk. Right, right, right. Rob, thoughts on this? Say hi to Kev and give him some thoughts.

01:05:10 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Kev. Welcome to the show.

01:05:12 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, bro.

01:05:13 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 3:

It's been great hearing you on here. I just want to say I think it's a good idea to let go of the petty. I think it's going to make things better for you, easier for you, happier for your son. I had to do the same thing with my ex-wife.

01:05:28 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 2:

How did you approach that conversation?

01:05:32 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 3:

It's really hard. I'm the single dad. I have my kids. She lives out of state. It's taken a lot of work. I just kind of had to suck it up. Yeah. And just accept her around.

01:05:48 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 4:

Good for you, by the way, on, you know, being a solid guy like that.

01:05:54 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, I appreciate it. And I think that it shows a lot for you that you're even debating doing this for your son. And I think it'll make everything better for all of you.

01:06:04 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. That's good. Thank you so much, Rob. What's up?

01:06:09 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Annika.

01:06:09 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, I know, but I think I always screw up your name, don't I?

01:06:12 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 1:

You do, but Kev just said it right, I think. Annika. There we go.

01:06:16 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 4:

Annika.

01:06:17 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 1:

The new guy has it right.

01:06:20 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 3:

That's me. That's me.

01:06:22 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 1:

uh cap i haven't gotten to talk to you yet uh but welcome to the show welcome to the the craziness that is mojo in the morning um but i was gonna say i'll just ask her like it can't hurt to just ask her and bring up why you're asking i'm not that's my two-year-old screaming at me in the background um but it can't hurt to ask her to like sit together and just explain why i did not grow up technically with divorced parents or separated parents um although they probably should have been um but my dad wasn't around for a lot of my childhood with traveling for work and stuff and i would have even if they were apart would have loved for them to be at those moments together and not have to look at two different areas of audience to see them and stuff. But I really think it can't hurt to ask.

01:07:24 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's a good point. You know what? Don't leave her feel uncomfortable. Talk ahead of time like you planned on doing and then leave it up to her and just say to her, say, listen, I think everything you said on the air was perfect. I would like Josiah to look to one spot in the in the room and not to two and um let me interrupt this real quick I'm gonna interrupt this I'm sorry that was actually from yesterday's show which by the way the full podcast you can actually go check out on our Mojo in the Morning Show podcast the reason why I want to stop it right now because I wanted to tell and Shannon wasn't with us yesterday so you didn't get a chance to hear this but this is the part that caught me off guard and I want you to you know I already I'm a stumbling fool I you know stutter a lot And I probably, at times, don't know what to say, you know? So this was the part that caught me off guard. Listen to, as we're talking to Kev, our new co-worker here. See, I'm stumbling there. Listen to who called up the show.

01:08:28 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, okay.

01:08:31 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 4:

Jasmine.

01:08:32 - 01:08:32 | Unknown:

How are you?

01:08:32 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 4:

Hello and welcome. We're just learning about Kev, so I didn't know who it was when I was picking it up here, but this is Josiah's mom. Josiah, by the way, is a superstar, incredibly good-looking young man. You've done good, Mom. Thank you. And I don't know if you got to hear the whole first start of this, but Kevin was wondering about Josiah's big day on Saturday.

01:09:02 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 2:

yeah so um you know throughout joe's life he's made like mention of you know wanting i guess us to be together or wanting to to be in a situation where he has both parents there to support him equally and at the same time and we've never really sat next to each other for like graduations and big events and moments like that and i immediately thought of his fourth grade graduation where we were like on two totally different sides of the area and just seeing Josiah like have to look on one side and look on the other and then kind of thinking about when he gets off of stage if he has to consider who to run first to it's just a lot of pressure and stuff that I feel like we both are at a point where we can sit next to each other and show that unity for Josiah so how would you feel if we sat next to each other whoever comes and supports Josiah but we all have one section this Saturday when he wins his best in show

01:09:53 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

award I would love that actually that makes you You said a good point, too, with having both parents. on one side and not know where to go, like, where to go after, like, once he gets off the stage, so, yeah.

01:10:05 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 2:

Although Kevin did admit that you win all the time when he comes off the stage.

01:10:11 - 01:10:11 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

01:10:12 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it would be Josiah's cheering section. This would be like, you know how in, you know, sports, in high schools and stuff like that, you have, like, the home side, the visitor side, you got Josiah's side, right?

01:10:26 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're going to be loud for real.

01:10:28 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I give you guys a lot of credit First off, I give you, Jasmine, a lot of credit Because I cannot imagine Going on a radio show To sit there and answer a question like that And it didn't sound like you even Hesitated for a second I mean, you knew what you'd want for Josiah

01:10:45 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 1:

Of course He liked him first

01:10:48 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 2:

And I give you a lot of credit, Kevin For actually Growing up and sitting right by her For God's sakes

01:10:55 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, Jasmine, is Josiah

01:10:58 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 2:

a mama's boy yes of course is he also a daddy's boy though yes of course that's my boy listen i think that that's awesome that you guys do it i i always have commended shannon and andrew for the way that they've done a great job of this and i know not every situation is like that and i honestly you know would be god forbid probably the petty person if chelsea and i got divorced and be like, I'm not... Or I'd be sitting next to Chelsea with my 25-year-old girlfriend.

01:11:32 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 5:

Mojo! Mojo, no.

01:11:36 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 2:

But, I think you guys are putting the kids first and I think that it's great that you're doing that. Jasmine, thank you for going on with us.

01:11:44 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, of course. Anytime. Thank you.

01:11:46 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 2:

And we would like to have you back on to play a game of Who Knows Him Best. That's the part, by the way, I should have cut off here. This is before I realized that That Kev was in trouble That's not going to happen

01:11:58 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 5:

That sounded like it went really really well though

01:12:01 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I mean it sounded great

01:12:03 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 5:

That's a big step

01:12:04 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Why are you looking at me like that I'm just really hoping Saturday everything goes as great As it sounded yesterday Update on Monday Stay tuned

01:12:14 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 2:

If it's for Josiah Then it will go great That's a fact Mackenzie that was yesterday's show And you can listen to the full podcast because some listeners had some really good pieces of advice, but you were hearing that for the first time, and what did you want to say?

01:12:30 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes, so I have three boys, and my oldest son has a different dad than the youngest two, but both of the dads, we all do everything together. The oldest son, his dad is married, and then the other one has a girlfriend, and we just celebrated a birthday together.

01:12:48 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

Wow, so you guys actually keep it all together for the kids.

01:12:52 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and we also, the oldest son's dad lives out of town, and they came into town, and we actually went to a Mud Hensky Mall together, too.

01:13:01 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. Do you let them stay at your house at all, or is that like pushing it?

01:13:05 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yes, so we, when my youngest two's dad and I were together, we actually went out of town and stayed at their house.

01:13:14 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Did they give you a comfortable bed, or was it like a semi-comfortable bed?

01:13:20 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 1:

No, it was a comfortable bed.

01:13:21 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 2:

Because at least you've got to do it a little bit. You know, you can't, like, completely give the exes, like, good stuff. You've got to be able to give them, like, maybe a bed that, like, is an old bed that's got a little sag in it from when you guys were, you know, doing things. So it's Mojo in the Morning Show. KP had something very interesting happen to her when she went to the hoedown. And I want you to tell the full story of what happened and then tell the update of what's going on here right now.

01:13:49 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I just want to say, why are country boys always the issue? I feel like they're tall, dark, and handsome, and they're so charming, and they're always cheating. And I'm going to say it.

01:14:04 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 2:

KP, to stop you for one second. You love country boys. It's not just country boys. It's every boys.

01:14:11 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 4:

I talk to War of the Roses peeps every week. You're right. I'm sorry. You're right. It's every man. What's that? When I say that, I get called out. But she can say it?

01:14:21 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, yes. KP, that's wrong. That's wrong. We don't like that. Go ahead. Next story. Okay.

01:14:28 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

So I went to Tim McGraw, and I am so touch-deprived, I allowed some guy to come up to me and dance with me. So I let him. And we may or may not have kissed or something. and he walked me to my truck afterwards and he was trying to show me a picture on his phone of his his Harley I don't know anything about motorcycles I do not care but I did see a picture of him with some blonde girl and so I was like hey that looks kind of weird like why do you have all these pictures of this

01:15:00 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 1:

girl on your phone and he's like it's my sister okay immediately no I know that's not your sister she's literally wrapped around you on your motorcycle so that's not your sister I I walk away from him and go home he texts me the next morning and I look up his full name on Facebook and he has a girlfriend of like three years so I message her because I ain't about that like I I've been in her shoes before. It's better for you to tell them now so that they can make their own choice about what they want to do. If she wants to stay, that's her prerogative, but she should know, in my opinion. And then after I do that, I typically just don't reply or block them.

01:15:41 - 01:16:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so to go back again, because I'm trying to keep up with this because I'm also running control boards here. You met this guy at the hoedown. You wanted to get a little kissing going, so you guys were kissing at the hoedown. you kissed him and made out with him before you went to okay he kissed you but you kissed back obviously right yeah that's two-way street until you guys went back to his car and then you saw

01:16:07 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 1:

a picture of what he said was his sister oh yeah he walked me to my truck and i saw a picture of his quote-unquote sister so i let quote-unquote sister know that brother was up to no good why are you doing that why am i doing that because i because it's good like girls need to know and i thought that was the last time i'd ever hear from either of them and that was not the case because the update is this past weekend i get a text from a random number and and it's the girl she's like hey i found your number in my boyfriend's phone and i'm very suspicious and Can you just tell me I'm not mad at you But can you tell me If something's going on Of course The thing That she's already having To search through his phone Exactly Like if that's your first sign And I said I'll do you one better FaceTime me I will tell you Everything And did she Oh yeah She FaceTimed me It was kind of awkward At first because Why are you playing This weird music In the background of this I got friends in low places Oh It was at a country concert This is not low for me I feel like this is a high KP's got friends In low places

01:17:14 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay, wait, so she face-tends you like immediately?

01:17:17 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 1:

Yes, immediately with her friend She needed support, I guess And then I tell her everything that happened Don't know if they're still together or not

01:17:25 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 4:

What was her reaction as you're telling her all this? Did she seem surprised?

01:17:30 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 1:

She was upset Let's say that She was smiling, but I could tell it was To cover up the upset About finding out that her boyfriend did all this stuff So I think she was definitely upset

01:17:42 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that KP, Kev, because you kind of seem like you were grunting and groaning over there. Do you think that she's in the wrong for telling this girl all the details, or do you think she should have just lived well enough alone and

01:17:55 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 2:

moved on? Let that man cook. There is a reason why he Let that man cook. There is a reason why he was at the concert alone in the first place. If they were that together, then she would have been married. Maybe she doesn't like country music. You still take, no.

01:18:09 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so anytime a guy is alone,

01:18:11 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

he's allowed to cheat. I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. Okay, let me just say it myself. Why did you reach out to her? Well, uh... You... You...

01:18:26 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 4:

But she would have reached out to KP either. She could have went another way. And I was guilty.

01:18:33 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 1:

I immediately told her. I was like, hey, this is what happened. I just don't... I don't do that stuff. Is this girl code? It is. Girl's girl. If your boyfriend is cheating and you see, or if you have a friend who has a boyfriend and you see them cheating, you tell them. I don't care. You tell them.

01:18:50 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Maybe it's Detective KP where, like, you went on Facebook, searched him, found him.

01:18:58 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

It's not even Detective KP. It's KP Shannon. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Detective Shannon, Detective Megan. We're all detectives.

01:19:05 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 3:

So here's the interesting thing. The interesting thing is that he obviously must be still in a very good relationship with her That he keeps a picture in his car I got wife and children I got no pictures of them in my car

01:19:17 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

No, it was on his phone Oh, it was on his phone

01:19:19 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 3:

It was on his phone

01:19:20 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 4:

And obviously there's an issue if she has to search through his phone consistently To look for numbers she doesn't know

01:19:26 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 3:

Was it his screen saver?

01:19:27 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it was? It was like the first three pictures in his camera roll

01:19:30 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay Why were you in his camera roll?

01:19:33 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 1:

Because he was showing me a picture of his motorcycle

01:19:35 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 3:

Of his motorcycle

01:19:36 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 1:

We got this to his motorcycle Maybe next time before he

01:19:50 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Blair what's going on. I just wanted to let KP know that

01:19:59 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

See you. Completely in the right It's girl code Like letting the other Female know Is great You shouldn't let guys Be sleazy Like she definitely Deserves to know That her man Was out there Trying to mack on the

01:20:11 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 5:

Good for you KP Play stupid games Win stupid prizes Exactly

01:20:15 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 7:

I like that Thank you for the call Blair Hold on One more One more hook hair And then I'll take The next call Come on KP

01:20:26 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 4:

I know It's too high

01:20:33 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 5:

Wow

01:20:34 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 4:

Hi Jill

01:20:45 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 1:

Hello

01:20:47 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

01:20:50 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 1:

I think Kevin's going to get a bad reputation with listeners We do not let men do this Amen I was talking to somebody a few months ago We went on a few dates And he said, oh, I don't really use my Facebook And, you know, I just have a couple Random people and my five sisters Oh, no, he did not have five sisters He had a girlfriend Oh, boy

01:21:11 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 7:

Listen, I gotta tell you something, though I will say this about Kevin His, you know, his opinion on this one He's honest I mean, listen, I don't agree with him And I don't agree with him because my wife's listening But I just want him to know that I appreciate your honesty on that.

01:21:27 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, here's my thing. Like, why don't we just let bygones be bygones? What is the point where you realize something's happening and you're like, let me go take action. I have to be the savior.

01:21:39 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 5:

Because I did that one time. Wouldn't you want to know? You go first, Jill. What happened to you?

01:21:43 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 7:

No, she says, wouldn't you want to know?

01:21:44 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 5:

No, wouldn't you want to know if it was you? Yeah. That's the only way you find out. And that's what happened to me in the past with my relationship. I wasn't even aware of certain things, And I didn't know until someone told me And that I would rather know Than go through an entire relationship

01:21:59 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 1:

I wish somebody would have told me I know that there are girls that knew about me But never told me That's true

01:22:05 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 7:

Does this guy by the way Keep in contact with you Like I know that she reached out to you Because she got your number But has he texted you since that O-Down? No I blocked him Oh you blocked him So how was she able to get a hold of you then?

01:22:18 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 5:

She has my number from his phone He didn't block me I blocked him

01:22:22 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 7:

Okay so she then called you From another number

01:22:24 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 4:

He is so dumb, for real. You are dumb, so dumb. What's even worse is the first text that he sent me

01:22:33 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 5:

in the morning was, you're a good kisser. And so of course the girl, when she looks in the text messages, she knows that's not like a friend.

01:22:43 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 4:

And people get mad, people get so mad at me when I call men stupid, but literally look at what they do. You're so dumb, literally so dumb. And also, get a personality. You're a good kisser the next morning. Bro, you are so bland. KP, I don't know what it is about you, but you do attract just absolute plain bagels. The worst.

01:23:06 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't get it. The absolute worst. You know what? Okay, you guys are going to laugh at this. His excuse to her was, I'm a big fan of Mojo in the Morning. Oh, no, no, no, no.

01:23:19 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 7:

We're going to lose a listener now. We can't afford to lose listeners.

01:23:25 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 4:

Call her back. Absolutely not.

01:23:29 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 7:

I would love if he would call us up. If he listens to the show, I want to hear him. What's up, Tracy?

01:23:34 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've been through this situation. I had an ex who had been cheating on me for two years, and the one he cheated on texts me constantly, telling me stuff.

01:23:47 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 7:

Really? What was the worst thing that she called and told you?

01:23:51 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Um, probably a picture that she was pregnant with his kid. Oh, my God. You had to think for that one?

01:24:01 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's unbelievable.

01:24:05 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't surprise me. That seems to be the kind of men that are out here nowadays. I have had friends. Their boyfriends have cheated on them. They've given them STDs. It's just, it's ridiculous.

01:24:19 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Wow. Thank you for the call.

01:24:21 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 2:

Dave, what's up? Hey, as a man, that guy's a sleazeball. Yes. I've been married for 42 years. You did a great job turning him in. Yes.

01:24:33 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 7:

Dave.

01:24:34 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

I'm new to your show.

01:24:36 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 7:

Really? Where did you come from? Where were you before?

01:24:39 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm from Detroit. I do a lot of drama. I'm a service technician, and, you know, I was just flipping through the stations and caught your show. What did you listen to before? It doesn't matter. I like the Bob and Tom show out of Toledo, but I don't get it all the time.

01:24:56 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Well, we love that you came and you're listening to us. Thank you so much.

01:25:00 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 3:

Like I said, I love you. I love the roses, too. That's awesome. I don't love that one.

01:25:05 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 2:

No, you don't. Oh, my gosh.

01:25:07 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 1:

Love roses.

01:25:09 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 2:

Carissa, what's up?

01:25:11 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I went on a Bumble date before with a dude. We baked cookies at the end of the date. And then the next day he texted me and said that he made a mistake because he was in a relationship. He had a not very common name, so I found him on Facebook. and stupid guy doesn't hide his girlfriend on facebook like it showed her name so i messaged her and she believed me but then ended up getting mad at me about the whole entire thing and was blaming me for having sex with him and it's like it takes two people to have sex like wow it was yeah and like that's not the first time something like that has happened like i've reached out to women before to let them know hey your boyfriend just cheated on you and most of the time it's been like receptive very well like they're like thank you and kind of like kp said we have to like women

01:26:07 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 2:

have to stick together this happens a lot to you so you attract a lot of taking guys i wouldn't say

01:26:13 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 1:

it happens a lot but like it's that's not the first time that it's happened like interesting I definitely found out later on that men have been in a relationship. I've found out that men have been married and, like, let their wives know. And I usually try to stay out of it after the fact because I feel like I'm doing my part letting them know, hey, your partner is a piece of crap.

01:26:40 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Janae, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. If you're just tuning in right now, KP, our producer, encountered a cheater at Hoedown. That's why it's called the Hoedown.

01:26:52 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, ho, you're going down. Hi, it's Janae. I'm five for five this month, right before the end of the month.

01:27:00 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 2:

I love it, Janae. We're punching that card. You get a free coffee. Pull around that window number two.

01:27:06 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 3:

But no, I am. So my situation was kind of, I guess you could say, yeah, it was similar. In college, I had a guy that I was dating. We were a year apart. Actually, we're born in the same year. He's just a few months younger than me. And so the way our birthday fell, I was a sophomore. He was a freshman. Well, I didn't find out until midway through the year when he and I started getting together that, you know, he basically had sex with half his freshman class. At the college, he had had sex with half a freshman class. So there was that. I didn't find that out until that summer, and I found out I was pregnant.

01:27:50 - 01:27:52 | Unknown:

Oh, no. Oh, man.

01:27:52 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So that first time I honestly found out I was pregnant, he was stressing me out because it was during the summer, and I was so stressed from everything, I actually had a miscarriage. Oh, geez. Yeah. So we tried to work it out the following year, and that was my third year of college. And he said everything was fine. And, you know, the girl that I was dealing with that stressed you out to the point you had a miscarriage, I'm not talking to her anymore. You know, it's just me and you. And like a dummy, I believed it. And, well, now he's married to the girl. And her son and my daughter are four months apart.

01:28:29 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Wow.

01:28:31 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:28:32 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 2:

Does everybody know what's going on?

01:28:35 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, everyone knows for a long time. You know, everybody tried to say I was the second. and so I was the one basically taking care of him and helping him and doing everything and afterwards he played the whole she doesn't let me see my child but you have not called in about six months whatever so you know it is what it is I'm happily married to a man in the army and it's been almost 10 years that we've been together

01:29:03 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 2:

great that's awesome thank you for the call Janae take care of yourself KP listeners are saying That you need to change your taste In music and guys Maybe you need to like try another Format of men What format should I try I don't know have you tried pop alternative Have you tried hip hop and R&B Have you yeah have you gone down to Maybe down the dial a little bit And found yourself some of the new hope music Have you found that out

01:29:33 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 1:

I'll shuffle my playlist thank you

01:29:35 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 2:

Maybe that will work for you All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So Shannon and your fiance went on a trip away this weekend, which was nice to see that you guys were going away. And I saw your pictures that you guys were posting or that you were posting. I saw your social media, which, by the way, again, you make me feel so bad. I go on trips and I never take as many pictures as I see sometimes that you will post. And you guys... look so good together it's like a photo shoot of the vacation thanks i mean look through i'm

01:30:06 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 1:

gonna look through these pictures thank you hold on i'm gonna look through i want to look through

01:30:09 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 2:

these pictures here right now and look at you guys look at these look at these guys they're like too good looking together you guys have like it's like photo shoots out in the desert for god's sakes i mean we were out in the desert it's unbelievable how can the background the background is very pretty it is they've got the mountains and stuff like that but thank you um something happened at uh on this trip though that made it very uncomfortable for you but more importantly

01:30:32 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 1:

for your fiance yeah so um I I go by the name Shannon Murphy on the show that really is my name but that's that's the name that was given to me when I was born so when I got married I took my now ex-husband's last name legally which I still have because I just never changed it when we got divorced i thought okay it matches the kids so i'm keeping it for that reason and i also just figured if i get married again someday which obviously i'm about to i'll change my name when

01:31:03 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 2:

that happens which i don't think is abnormal do you know am i weird i no i you don't i don't think you have kids right you're not gonna change her right away i'm interested i've been by the way

01:31:12 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 1:

have my legal last name which is not murphy let's for the sake of this conversation say it's smith

01:31:17 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 2:

okay common last name okay so which by the way before you tell this story i have been wondering for the longest time will you when you get married change your name again i will okay you are gonna

01:31:31 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 1:

yes i will change my name yeah i was wondering about that yeah um and so i was the one for this trip wes and i kind of split everything so he bought flights he paid for the rental car so i was in charge of doing the hotel which i am a point lover mojo you know this i put everything in my credit card and i pay it off so that i can get the points and then i always redeem those points i usually your marriott bonvoy i love marriott bonvoy okay i am such a marriott bonvoy whore that is for sure so i used points and some cash to do to rent the room so everything is under My legal last name Which is Andrew's last name Okay, my ex-husband So we get to this hotel And right away They start referring to Wes As Mr. Smith His last name Is not

01:32:28 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

That was a bad choice of an alias last name Because now we all think that your son's name Is Smith Smith

01:32:35 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 1:

Well I don't know, what's a more generic last name I was just trying to think it's generic Johnson, sure, sure, Mr. Johnson They're basically referring to him as if he's Andrew, okay? We go to the front desk. They say, oh, thank you so much, Mr. Johnson. They seat us at breakfast. Johnson party. He signs the bill. Thank you so much, Mr. Johnson. At the pool, if they bring us everything, they're like, oh, Mr. Johnson, hope you're having a great day. Poor Wes looks at me by the second day, and he's like, Shan, we got to go. You've got to go to the front desk and switch it because it is so weird and uncomfortable. He actually, at the pool one day, started keeping a tally on his leg with a pen that he was signing the bills with of how many times he had been called Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson.

01:33:23 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 2:

Johnson party of two.

01:33:25 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 1:

Johnson party of two. I didn't even think about that when I booked the room that they were going to address both of us by that name. It was really fun for him. Hold on, I'm calling up Wes.

01:33:38 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, this is Mr. Johnson.

01:33:43 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 2:

Wes, at what point did it finally, you know, say, all right, enough is enough? How many times total was it?

01:33:53 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Eleven.

01:33:53 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and he was keeping track. I had it on my leg. I was keeping a towel.

01:33:59 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Wes, we've never met. I'm Kev, new guy.

01:34:02 - 01:34:03 | Unknown:

Hey, Kev.

01:34:03 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 3:

We're not going to address the time that you wake up. That's a whole other conversation.

01:34:07 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we talked about that earlier this morning.

01:34:09 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, the first time that you heard them call you that last name, what was that gut reaction? This trip or a prior trip? This isn't the first?

01:34:21 - 01:34:21 | Unknown:

What?

01:34:22 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 3:

That is true. I should have learned. This is probably the first time as an engaged man. Yeah. Yeah.

01:34:28 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 2:

Have you thought that maybe you should take the hotel next time and give her the airlines and all the rest of that stuff?

01:34:35 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was a bad move on my part.

01:34:37 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

So I wanted to ask this question, too, because Shannon brought this up and I have not experienced this because I hadn't before Chelsea and I got married. We we had no money. Both of us were dirt poor. But so with dating and going on vacations together and you're dating in situations, how do you guys decide upon who's paying for what? Like, I've always wondered this. with couples in your circumstances where both of you guys are married or dating professionals, how do you guys say, all right, I got this. We're going to plan a trip. Do you guys sit at the table together and talk about this, or what do you guys do?

01:35:13 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 4:

No, I think, well, I have the airline. I'm a Delta Points guy, and Shannon's the Marriott Bonvoy. So that's easy in most cases. But we're generally pretty good about paying for meals back and forth. We just do that, or we fight to do it, right? I'll find out later. Shannon Venmo's me or I Venmo her afterwards. It's just a constant battle. So we haven't really

01:35:34 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 2:

had that issue at all. Okay. Alright, because I wondered about that, like when you're planning for trips, like how that works and asking for, you know, because I'm always uncomfortable, even when we go out to dinner with other people, when people are like wanting to split the check and stuff like that. Same. What's up? Kimberly wants to make a comment to you, Wes, because she can relate to what you guys had happen to you. Hi, Kimberly.

01:35:56 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Actually, my husband, I can relate to you guys.

01:36:03 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 2:

Your phone is bad. Say that again. You and your husband, what happened?

01:36:11 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 1:

I made the reservation, so everything was under my maiden name. And we get there, and we're on the beach, and they have our little area set up, and it says, you know, welcome, Mr. and Mrs., and then my maiden name. And every time we have to say our last name for our room, you know, he would have to tell people, you know, my maiden name. So he can definitely relate to you guys.

01:36:33 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 2:

But at least that was your maiden name.

01:36:34 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 3:

This was your honeymoon?

01:36:36 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Yes. At least that was your maiden name. Imagine in Wes's case where it's not.

01:36:41 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 3:

It's my ex-husband's name. Yeah, that's a little bit worse.

01:36:46 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would make it very difficult to deal with. Although maybe this is the reason why Referring back to when you Talked to us earlier this morning about Wes waking you up Early in the morning

01:36:59 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 3:

He was just meh This was my punishment

01:37:02 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 2:

I'm making her wake up Did you hear the listener that said that you're a sociopath For waking up better

01:37:08 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, this is a great morning I also love the name Johnson, thanks for that Mr. Johnson was a great transition Thank you

01:37:15 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Did you have as good a time as Shannon has She's been talking about it this morning Saying it was just an awesome vacation

01:37:21 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 4:

It was an awesome vacation. It was very good.

01:37:24 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

I told them that I made you stay outside every time I pooped.

01:37:27 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 2:

No, no, hold on a second. Let's talk about that on the air. We didn't talk to the listeners about this. Shannon told us off the air that when you guys, because you had one bathroom in your hotel, when she would go to the bathroom, where would she make you go?

01:37:43 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 4:

Outside. Like outside. There was like a balcony.

01:37:47 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 2:

So you would have to go out on the balcony. how long would you have to be out there on the balcony if it was... Until the smell went away.

01:37:53 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't know about the smell because that was still there. I was on a FaceTime with her sister for 20 minutes and when I was done, I was like, I thought coast was clear and surely it wasn't. It wasn't.

01:38:07 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Did that at all make you wonder a little bit? When do you guys get to poop in front of each other? When do you guys get to duty? Never.

01:38:18 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 3:

Not around.

01:38:19 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:38:19 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 3:

Never. You've never pooped in front of Chelsea?

01:38:22 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Have you? Well, no, but I poop in the bathroom. And then, you know, we were away this weekend, and we not only had us in the room, we had Luke in the room with us. So imagine the duty smells that she got from not only her husband, but from her son.

01:38:37 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 4:

No, there's a whole strategy. When you're at a hotel, the boy gets the restaurant one, and then the girl gets the room. That's how that worked for us.

01:38:44 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 2:

That actually is kind of true with that. This is new. Love you.

01:38:47 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:38:48 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll talk to you later. You have a great day, and we promise that no more conversation that is negative in light to you, okay? Aw, nice try. I love you guys. Bye, Mr. Johnson. Love you, too. Bye, Mr. Johnson. Yes. By the way, that would be so awkward, too, especially if it's like the romantic night dinner, like where you're having, like, oh, this is a great dinner. This is awesome. I know after we get a little bit of dessert, we're going to get a little creme brulee, and then we're going to go to the room and have some fun to have that happen to you. That basically would make a man limp at that particular moment, don't you think?

01:39:30 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm not a man, but sure.

01:39:31 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Yes, it would. Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:39:38 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's talk about Al Pacino expecting his fourth child At the ripe old age of 82, the Hollywood icon and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Noor Elfala, are pregnant. They've been together since April of last year, and she's already eight months into this pregnancy, from what I'm hearing. So they've kept this.

01:40:00 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 1:

a secret for quite some time but if you do the math which i know everybody's trying to do by the time the baby graduates from high school al pacino will be exactly 100 years old kind of

01:40:12 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 4:

crazy is it something that you should like think about like these celebrities do it and i i know it probably happens in regular people's lives too where you get like the 70 something year old guy But I have a belief, though, that it's only rich people that do stupid stuff like that. And when I say stupid stuff like that, is it fair to the kid, the poor kid that's coming into this world, that basically you already know they're going to have a single parent? Because there's no way Al Pacino is living until 182.

01:40:48 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 2:

I went to school with a dude who, we were in high school, and his dad was like 77. and he was just really upset because he was like, I know he's not going to be there. He didn't have a good relationship with him because he was like, well, he's not going to be around.

01:41:01 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 4:

I just think that guys like that and Robert De Niro and then the story about some of these rich guys that live in our area here where they'll remarry and then they'll decide that they're going to have a baby when they're in their 60s or 70s. I just think that they're not putting to mind the fact that the kid's going to want to have a relationship with dad. Right.

01:41:20 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has given to her until June 2nd, so Friday, right, to sign off on his move to Hawaii, or he's taken her to court. Did you guys talk about this a little bit yesterday at all? So, Kevin's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said he has asked Britney's lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, to send an approval letter or email from Britney indicating she agrees to this move, but that still hasn't happened. Now, the situation here is Kevin Federline is married, and his wife, Victoria, has a really good job offer at a university, a university sports department down in Hawaii, or over in Hawaii, whatever, and needs to formally accept the position and then agree to move. Obviously, her husband and the boys are going to go with her. Now, Kevin plans to move August 1st, and he's feeling the pressure of having to work within this tight timeline, find a place for his family to live in Hawaii. So his lawyer says the court will likely approve the move given that Brittany hasn't seen Sean or Jaden in over a year. And for the record, Kevin has 100% legal custody and 100% what's called de facto physical custody of the kids. But I think Brittany still needs to give her okay as mom in a situation and provide consent. But everybody's saying she's cool with it. She just hasn't legally provided consent. A journalist named A.J. Benza, formerly from TMZ, says he has firsthand knowledge of what caused Jamie Foxx's stroke. And he says it all has to do with the COVID shot.

01:42:57 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 3:

I worked my butt off to get a story about what happened to Jamie Foxx. It was all baloney what they were reporting. He's playing pickleball. He's responding on Instagram. No, he's not. People do that for you. It's all lies. I had somebody in the room who let me know that Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it.

01:43:26 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. That is. Yeah, that's. Well, and it's interesting, though, that we still have not heard from Jamie's family about his condition. And I think that the people that are definitely wanting to know, and they probably already do. and they're just keeping it quiet is Fox because the Fox people have a show.

01:43:43 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 1:

They have two shows, actually, I believe.

01:43:45 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 4:

I think you're right. Yeah, Jamie already has his one show that's on there.

01:43:48 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 1:

And then there was a new show he's doing with his daughter.

01:43:50 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, they've got to be wondering what they're going to do with that.

01:43:53 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 1:

And this movie that he was doing with Cameron Diaz as well. Like, what's the status of that? I don't know. Real quick, Rosalind Carter, the wife of former President Jimmy Carter, is suffering from dementia. Yesterday, the Carter Center released a statement saying She continues to live happily at home with her husband, enjoying spring in Plains, Georgia, and visits with loved ones. She is 95 years old and has been a leading mental health advocate for much of her life. And I always love when these lists come out. People who've worked as servers took to Reddit to expose celebrities who are either really good or really bad tippers. And here's what they revealed. One person said Shaq came into her restaurant with a couple of buddies who had just ordered drinks. He said, you ready to the server? Put down 500 bucks on the table for a $28 tab that wasn't even his.

01:44:41 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 4:

Shaq always seems like he'd be a great guy, don't you think?

01:44:44 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Megan, one for you. Everybody says Bill Nye, the science guy. I know you are so hot for him. Is a very down-to-earth and good tipper.

01:44:51 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 2:

I was so worried you were about to be stingy.

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Rachel Ray stiffs everybody, apparently. Here's one. A friend waited on Morgan.

01:45:00 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

Freeman, John Goodman, and Steve Carell. At one point, John Goodman pulled out a cigar and without hesitation the waitress had a lit lighter waiting for him. He reached into his wallet and gave her a crisp hundy for that. Nick Carter once paid with a debit card, tipped $30 on a $100 bill. Thought that was really nice. And Charlie Sheen came into the cafe I worked with with one of his daughters. Super polite, tipped extremely well 10 out of 10. Celebrity experience. 01:46:15 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 3:

My heart rate's real high, and I can't even call for these tickets. But that just happened. Something's happening.

01:46:21 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 1:

Our phone line, by the way, just so you know, just knocked the phone. Just doing that. Just playing Shake It Off. just knocked the phone lines off to all the other radio stations and iHeart in the building. We just got word from the engineers that there was something wrong with the phone lines, and I said, no, our phone lines are ringing. I guess the other phone lines in the other stations are not ringing right now. They all had some experience, some technical difficulties. So why don't we do this while we are waiting for that to happen? Let me tell you about our daddy-daughter dance, which we're going to give you another shot to win tickets to that coming up here in the next few uh daddy daughter dance is happening on june 23rd and tickets are on sale right now vip tickets for just 25 a piece uh daddy daughter dance is going on at district 182 or 142 in wyandotte michigan it's a way for you if you're 21 or older to do a daddy daughter dance for your dad and not like it is when you know you see yourself when you're a kid your dad taking you, you take your dad. So if you want to come and party with us, you can go to Mojo in the morning.com and get your tickets to our daddy daughter dance again, June 23rd. So that's the Friday after father's day. It's Mojo in the morning show. We've been more than an hour without a commercial interruption. Megan wants to call me out on something and I have no idea what it is that she's going to refer to, but I do know this. We went to lunch yesterday. So right after the show was over with we had our show meeting and then after the show meeting we had a few things we taped our more mojo podcast which you can go check out and then we did you know uh some last minute things for today's show and then we decided that we would go eat and so we went across the street to the coney island and i cannot think of anything that i did that would be considered petty

01:48:13 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 4:

because megan wants to call me petty right now but like petty in a good way because i think that petty sometimes gets a negative connotation on here and as the queen of petty on the show i don't think that that's fair i think that we deserve a little bit of credit for being the joy in life

01:48:29 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

because petty can be fun all right and i should actually take this not as a a um criticism but

01:48:36 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 4:

absolutely i like this we were standing in the parking lot yesterday we were talking um really quickly you were driving off i was um taking the top off of my car and wait for a second there it

01:48:51 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 1:

kind of got me she did by the way she took her top off right there in front of the parking front

01:48:55 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

of the coney yeah so i uh i love saying that i was taking my top off and you stopped and we were talking but anybody could drive past us like the parking lot was big enough that people could go around if they wanted to but this one woman was so mad at us and as she was driving past us because you know her car fit she turned around and her windows were up but I could hear her scoff at us and go oh in her vehicle she threw her hands up in the air like what are you doing like we were the biggest inconvenience that has ever come across her in our entire life. And then she just drove off. That was not the petty part. The petty part was the absolute joy that came across Mojo's face when this happened. And then he honked lightly. He did the beep, beep and then waved and smiled and said, have a nice day. And I had never seen you be more petty and I loved it. I lived for it. So that was actually

01:50:00 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 2:

my pettiness i like that i was for it i i had never seen the sight of you before it brought me so much joy to know that you could stoop down to my level every once in a while it wasn't well

01:50:11 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

first off let me just say that uh i didn't even see that she was trying to get around me yet you're and again you said this right she could have easily gotten around like she had no problem getting around but she was all upset that i was uh yeah yeah that by the way is not my car horn write that at a moment she got she got uh she was easily could have gotten around me um and she decided instead and she did the whole she did the whole in the car passenger seat and gives me the she not only did the middle finger but she did the whole what is this called when you go like that oh that's the same thing is that like that's a f that's like that's like the yeah there's got to be a name to it at all but it's like we're basically i think she was telling me f you and my children and my you know family and all the rest of those people but she was very she was very upset over this thing and it's always kind of funny when you do this when you honk like that because here's what you don't know about megan about said petty lady because we sat there and we started talking for some time right you and i started talking for some time we did and i drove home from the station and i drive m5 home uh which is right here by the radio station and i go through novi and commerce township and all the rest of that stuff well i decided that i was going to stop off at my friends over at the usa gas station over there oh because i needed to get gas for my car and i pull over and guess who is pumping up i'm on seven she's on nine guess who's pumping i love when that happens so much and it was so funny because she's there and she's not you know pumping the gas the guy who was driving was pumping the gas because it was an audi it was

01:51:53 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 2:

a little Audi car of course it was an Audi by the way if you drive an Audi you got an attitude

01:51:58 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 3:

problem well you got money definitely you got some money and she walked into the USA gas station that has the Wendy's that's there and she walked in to go get something and she comes walking out and as she's coming walking out I go I recognize her let me see your arms again and do that whole thing and I do the whole I don't know if you guys do this do you guys ever talk to the people that are pumping their gas? Not really, no.

01:52:23 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 4:

I always do it. Only you interview strangers on a regular basis. I know, this is such a you

01:52:27 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 3:

thing. I don't, Kev, here's what I do. If there's somebody there pumping their gas, I like to ask them how their day is going. Oh my god, don't talk to me. But I don't do it to hot girls. Because the problem is, hot girls think you're hitting on them when you're doing that. And my problem is, I don't want to be known as the creepy guy doing it, so I do it to not-so-hot girls, old guys and old ladies okay and so i said to the guy go hey how you doing before i knew that this was the the people that were the petty people in the uh coney parking lot and then i see her and i'm like oh there you go and i said hey you guys look familiar and you should have seen the look on her face when she saw me and it was funny i don't know i that was petty so that that gives me my pettiness but that's another layer though people who don't keep that same energy oh yeah you got to give him got to give him grief what's up courtney how you doing i'm good how are you guys good what's happening you want to call about my pettiness no i'm calling about my pettiness

01:53:28 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

oh okay go ahead i mean everybody knows school parking lots are crazy right so drop my son off at school today trying to leave the parking lot and this guy in this big white truck behind me honks and i'm like i can't even go so i go when i can go and he pulls out totally takes off the curb like four wheeling on the curb going over it and i laugh and kind of do a little wave and he of course starts you know yelling but i was like that's instant karma yeah i've had that

01:54:01 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 3:

happen before where a person starts yelling at you and then they end up going into traffic and almost causing your car accident like they think they think you're stopped because you're being an idiot right and yet you're stopped because you're trying to protect them from getting into a car

01:54:16 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 1:

accident i mean nobody wants to spend time in a school parking lot so i'm trying to get out there just as fast as everybody else but do you ever hear the great one of my favorite stories ever

01:54:25 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 3:

that shannon tells is the time that uh uh the the somebody caught me off the yoga the yoga

01:54:32 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 4:

instructor yeah and i gave him the finger and it and then i went to yoga class it was johnny cast right it was johnny cast world famous yoga instructor he really is and he's all about like zen and peace and kindness and i gave him the freaking finger namaste so you

01:54:51 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

really did need the classes i did yeah uh thank you for the call take care of yourself thank you

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

all right bye

01:56:32 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning got a few things that i wanted to bring up on the show i want to get into five lies to tell your mom coming up here in just a few moments um before we get into five lies to tell your mom the next two topics that we have are going to be topics that to be perfectly honest with you are going to deal with your sense of smell and one in particular is going to deal with the sense of smell of something that I have no idea how you know what it smells like because if you do know what it smells like you're saying to yourself okay you actually smelled it and my son is the reason why I'm bringing this up because I was yesterday just enjoying the lovely smells that were outside and my son Jacob and I were on the phone and I told Jacob about it and he said dad you know what that is and when he told me what it was I was thinking to myself how in the hell do you know what that smells like so coming up here in just a little bit what am i smelling outside of my house i want you to stick around because it might be one of those ones where it will be very uncomfortable to even talk about okay have you ever heard i know i want to bring it up so bad right now Have you ever heard of trees that smell like semen?

01:58:19 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 1:

She wasn't ready. Did you know that Ohio is a big part of this problem?

01:58:26 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second.

01:58:27 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 1:

And I can give you lots of details on these trees. Oh, my God.

01:58:30 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't believe it. I was honestly, I was like, what?

01:58:35 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 1:

I know the smell.

01:58:38 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 2:

You know what it smells like? No, but I know the trees that you're talking about.

01:58:43 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

You know the tree smells.

01:58:45 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay. First off, let me just say this to you. Having a conversation with your son and having your son tell you that it smells like, you know, he calls it the C word and not the semen word. And having him say that to you, then I sit there and I go, how do you know what that smells like?

01:59:08 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 1:

Well, he's your son. I mean.

01:59:10 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 2:

Right. I understand.

01:59:11 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, don't pretend.

01:59:13 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I know, listen, I know that my children are sexually active. I do know that they're, you know, I mean, well, I don't know if Luke is, but I do know that Joe and Jacob are. But to know that he was like, oh, yeah, that's the sea tree. And I'm like, oh, the sea tree? And he goes, yeah, the one that smells like in the sea, meaning the semen. Yes, yes, yes. yeah so i got to i will say this to you i got to a point in our conversation where i don't know if i was necessarily because i was outside at the time we were talking and i'm like going oh it smells so wonderful for some reason for some for some reason it smells so good around my name

02:00:00 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 1:

right now and i could not figure out what exactly it was that i was smelling and how good it smells

02:00:06 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 3:

good i thought it smells good that smell is not good you don't like the smell of that i mean no no if you like it exactly that smell if you like it you can bottle it

02:00:17 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 1:

you can bottle that smell you can have it whenever you want and wait a second you know i guess we're just gonna have to talk about it right now i'm not even gonna i'm not even gonna tease it we'll get into five lies in a second pair because we've already gotten into it that deep but

02:00:30 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 3:

i love the smell i don't know what the story is i'm gonna do you a solid and say maybe you're connecting the visual of how beautiful these trees are save him yeah to this disgusting smell i don't know like you know how that can actually alter your your brain a little bit yeah because The visual is...

02:00:56 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 1:

No, honestly, it smells so wonderful in my neighborhood. Like, honestly, it smells like the beauty of, like, the birds chirping, and it's like just the most wonderful... Hi, Chelsea. How are you doing?

02:01:08 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 3:

I cannot believe this is even a topic.

02:01:09 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea, how great does our neighborhood smell right now?

02:01:13 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's a tree in our backyard that smells really good.

02:01:16 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 1:

It's wonderful. I mean, and...

02:01:19 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 3:

I can't tell if she's being serious and facetious to make fun of you.

02:01:22 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 1:

No, no. No, she does, because I don't think you know. Chelsea, when you're outside and you're smelling that wonderful smell, are you just sitting there thinking to yourself, God, is my husband gorgeous?

02:01:34 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not. No.

02:01:37 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean it's not?

02:01:38 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 2:

It's a very pretty smell.

02:01:41 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:01:41 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not, Chelsea. No, it's not. How would you describe it? The tree in our backyard is, yes.

02:01:46 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 1:

I think it's wonderful.

02:01:47 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 2:

It's not the tree that Jacob told him about. Oh. Oh.

02:01:51 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 1:

Jacob swears that we have those trees in our...

02:01:55 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, we don't.

02:01:57 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, come on.

02:01:58 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Just for a second there, I was like, don't you Chels get it? I would have gone and never go outside and I would have them removed.

02:02:03 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 1:

Chels, I do not know what that smells like, what the sea stuff smells like. Okay. Do you know what it smells like? You live in a house full of boys. I understand that, but... And you have one yourself. But I've never smelled mine. I've never sat there and smelled it. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure. yeah it's like gorgeous outside and it just smells wonderful and then jacob has to tell me that it's the sea tree no it's not that is not what no how do you know how do you know it's not a sea tree i showed you the picture of it and that's what it looks like no it doesn't have you even been outside i have i was outside yesterday with henry and louie henry will not come in now tell me where

02:02:41 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 2:

that tree is that's flowering that we're smelling that's what i'm smelling is the where is the tree that you are smelling.

02:02:48 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 1:

I think it's the Giladis tree.

02:02:51 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 2:

No. See, you're wrong. You don't even know what you're talking about.

02:02:54 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Brittany, do you know what that stuff smells like?

02:03:00 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it's god awful. I worked for a trucking company that their whole trees lined by the street were those trees. So every time I went out to smoke, that's all I smelled. It was like the architect's dream in the 1950s. They are everywhere.

02:03:16 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 1:

Did you think to yourself when you're smelling that, did you think to yourself, oh, that smells like crap or, oh, that smells like semen?

02:03:25 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 4:

I definitely said that smells like semen. I actually listed it to my husband, and he thought he got the biggest kick out of it. So now every time we see those trees, he's like, oh, those are the semen trees, huh? I'm like, yes, those are them.

02:03:37 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 1:

And they're pretty trees. I don't think that the smell is bad. And I know that there are people that look at, you know, the fact that, you know, there are certain trees that are kind of gross smelling. Like some people think that certain trees smell like fish or dead fish. And some people have said that some smell like butthole. But I'm telling you, I think the trees are actually not bad smelling. I don't know why you think that they're bad smelling.

02:04:00 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't care for them. That's just me.

02:04:03 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

I just don't think you have the same memories associated with the smell.

02:04:06 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? What memories do you have there, huh?

02:04:11 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Megan.

02:04:12 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 4:

You're a dirty girl.

02:04:14 - 02:04:22 | Speaker 3:

Not even that, though, but, like, if you smell poop, it smells like poop. It's gross. How can you smell that smell and go, mm, it smells so good?

02:04:23 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 1:

Rachel, what's going on?

02:04:26 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

02:04:26 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Rachel. What's up?

02:04:28 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 4:

I think the, I don't know what the tree smells like, but the sea stuff that the guys have, to me, smells like pancake batter. Are we really having this conversation? Oh, my gosh.

02:04:37 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 2:

Girl, what kind of drugs are you wearing?

02:04:40 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 1:

No, but maybe that's the reason why I like the smell so much. Maybe it's, like, a good smell. I don't know. Yeah? Hold on. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Andy?

02:04:49 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I know what the trees are you guys are talking about. So the gross ones, those are Bradford pears, and people plant them around parking lots all the time.

02:05:00 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 1:

good ones that you smell are honey or black locusts. Black locusts. So you're saying that I'm smelling candy. So you're saying I'm smelling black locusts. Chelsea, describe the smell.

02:05:10 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 2:

What is the smell like? It's floral. It's a very pretty floral. It almost smells kind

02:05:15 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 1:

of like a little bit of jasmine in it. Is that what it is? That what that thing smells like? I don't know what. Tell us real quick. Andy, what do you smell like? Tell us what smells. I just think it smells like candy. Really? By the way. I mean, it smells real good. I've been told that before. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:05:41 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 2:

First pick in the draft.

02:05:42 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 1:

Let me explain this contest, this two for Taylor. So we kicked it off this morning, and we actually even had a win or two, and we'll have another chance for you coming up here, depending on what we're going to be playing music-wise. If you listen to Mojo in the Morning, weekday mornings from 6 o'clock until 10.30, and then if you listen to Channel 955 from 10.30 all the way until 6 o'clock, if we play two Taylor Swift songs back-to-back, be the 95th caller after we finish the second song, and you win Taylor Swift tickets. So that's the contest. It's two for Taylor kicked off today from now until Friday, June 9th. What do you got in this hour's dirty on the 30s?

02:06:23 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, speaking of Taylor, I'll start off with a song about her, specifically about Swifties. There are certain Taylor fans who have been attending her Eras tour shows, and they're not remembering, like, not even one single second of it. Basically, it's called post-concert amnesia, and it is a very real thing. One woman from New York said she's dreamed about seeing Taylor for so long now That it's been difficult for her to retain what happened at the concert She said if she didn't have videos that her friends took of her jamming out at the show She would never have believed that she had even gone to that show Like doesn't remember anything Another woman who attended Taylor's show in Philadelphia said it felt like an out-of-body experience As though it didn't really happen And doctors say there is good evidence to back up this phenomenon So if you're at a concert of somebody that you love, you've been dying to see forever, surrounded by thousands of other excited people listening to music that you have an emotional connection to, a lot of things are happening in your body and brain. A lot of emotions all at once. And it's actually exhausting for the brain to experience all of that high, high emotion, which means nothing's going to stand out to you after the show.

02:07:38 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 1:

See, that would piss me off because I paid $2,000 a ticket to not remember one thing that's going on.

02:07:45 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

And doctors are saying that the way some people's brains react to extreme positive emotion, like going to a Taylor Swift concert if you're a diehard 50, is very similar to how your brain would react to incredibly negative stress or trauma. That's wild.

02:07:59 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Just kind of block it out. Does that work for the show? Because maybe I'm having great feelings about the show. There's some times where I walk away from the show And I have no idea what the hell we talked about all day

02:08:09 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 2:

That's called exhaustion

02:08:10 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? Okay Not the same

02:08:13 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 2:

The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey disguised herself And snuck into a showing of the movie At a theater over the weekend This is really cute She's Ariel I mean she wore Here's the thing Okay so she wore a face mask, sunglasses And then like a I don't know like a black jacket And she's carrying this bucket of popcorn into the theater. She said she wasn't recognized by anybody. Listen, I love her, okay? I'm happy for her. I'm excited for the success of this movie. She deserves it. She's talented. I want to see her thrive. That girl held a bucket of popcorn in the hallway of the movie theater, snapped a photo, and then walked back out. Girl, you did not sneak into a movie. I don't know. Regardless, you know what? She's bragging rights. The Little Mermaid, obviously, you guys talked about this, took the top spot, made $117.5 million over Memorial Day weekend. And I saw that at Walt Disney World. I think Walt Disneyland well Disneyland too swapped out Ariel so the Ariel that they have in the parks looks like Halle Bailey they have both they have both yeah which is so funny that people were just I saw in one post I don't know who did it if it was People Magazine just people slamming it I thought

02:09:20 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 1:

come on they were upset of why because what because she's black or what

02:09:25 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 2:

yes it just didn't look like quote unquote Ariel the Ariel to them

02:09:29 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 1:

yeah listen it's a cartoon character for Christ's sake

02:09:31 - 02:09:56 | Speaker 2:

it's a mermaid it's literally a mermaid literally a mermaid yeah Real quick, ahead of the Miami Heat playing in the NBA Finals tomorrow night against the Denver Nuggets, Jimmy Butler has filed a trademark. Jimmy Buckets. For Hemmy Buckets. Hemmy Buckets. That's what this says, unless it's a typo. No, you're right. Hemmy Buckets. Yeah. Plans to launch a beverage and clothing line is the story I'm getting, so that's happening.

02:09:56 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Jimmy Butler, by the way, my son is convinced, is my son.

02:10:00 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Michael Jordan's son, there is a conspiracy online that says that Michael Jordan and his mom had sex, and I guess the timing works out of where Michael was at the time, and nobody knows who Jimmy Butler's dad is, and that Jimmy Butler looks exactly like Michael Jordan and actually plays like Michael Jordan. Thoughts on this one with this, Kev? I'm going to go with no. No? I'm going to go with no. I mean, could you imagine being Michael Jordan's sons that can never play in the NBA? Yeah. And those guys, they got Jimmy Butler as their brother, and they don't even call him their brother. Yeah, and he played in Chicago. Isn't Michael Jordan's son dating Scottie Pippen's? Yeah, Larsa Pippen. Yeah. What? Yeah, Michael Jordan's son is with Larsa Pippen, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife. Baking a lot of cookies, I'm hearing. And Scottie Pippen over the weekend got into a little bit of controversy because he said that Michael Jordan wasn't good until he played with him. And so that was a big deal. Now back to you, Shannon. Thank you. You shouldn't bring up anything basketball-wise. I get excited.

02:11:12 - 02:11:26 | Speaker 1:

You guys need your time. It's cool. Singer Sia revealing that she is on the spectrum. And while she's talked about and been very open about her sobriety in the past, this is the first time she has mentioned her late-in-life autism diagnosis. She's 47 years old, by the way.

02:11:26 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm on the spectrum and I'm in recovery and whatever. There's a lot of things. I mean, I felt like for 45 years, I was like, how am I? Like, what is, how do, I've got to go put my human suit on. And I'm in the last two years have I've become my, like fully, fully myself.

02:11:54 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Trader Joe's, you know I love.

02:11:57 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 3:

Can I play this song for a little bit? Trader Joe's. I'm sorry. I love this song. Okay, go ahead. It's Trader Joe's.

02:12:04 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 1:

Trader Joe's. So there is this conspiracy theory if you are a Trader Joe's enthusiast like I am. And it's all about their small parking lots. Trader Joe's is the best ever. But they have the worst, weirdest, most awful parking lots ever, ever, ever. Every location is like this. Okay?

02:12:23 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what my theory is? Yes. They only like skinny people to shop there, so they make the parking spots small so that we can't get out of our cars.

02:12:32 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 1:

No. So the VP of marketing for Trader Joe's, her name is Tara Miller. She said, all of the memes and the theories are entertaining, but they are not correct. She said, we don't open stores with the world's most ridiculous parking lots on purpose. She said the number of parking spaces is determined by how large each Trader Joe's location is. And most of their locations are pretty teeny tiny. Now, think about this. If you're thinking about like a Target, for example, most of those big chains operate out of massive facilities. And there's, you know, warehouses in the back, which call for bigger parking lots to meet the need. That's what we're all used to. Trader Joe's locations, way smaller in comparison to a Target or a Walmart. So she said, you know, not only that, not only do their parking lot sizes have to match the store sizes, but also the stores are always typically very busy. So she said, let's say that a 12,000 square foot store has 500 people visiting and a giant store has 100 people visiting. Those parking lots are going to feel very, very good.

02:13:35 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 3:

Trader Joe's seem very small in the aisles are small. They are.

02:13:40 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they are. Everything about it. Yeah.

02:13:41 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 3:

But still, I always feel like I'm bumping into somebody there. I feel like when I'm there, I'm in a dollhouse for some reason. That's what it feels like.

02:14:01 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, oh, man, oh, man. You know what's wild is that when we get into certain topics on our show, you can always go back and look at the texts that come in later and just see like what topics are the topics that people really wanted to have a conversation about but couldn't get in through to us by checking out the text messages and seeing like what time they arrive so can i go back real quick and read some uh text messages from things that we talked about this morning on the show that people like an hour and a half later are figuring it out because I think what happens is our podcasts are kind of the new way of listening to the show. And I know this is weird for those that are like me, you know, one of the people that's like a traditionalist. Like I like to listen live, but it's funny. I have no problem with television.

02:15:00 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 1:

television, binge watching a show or, you know, even watching a movie at home, even though I hate watching movies at home. I fall asleep all the time. Oh, I can't stand it.

02:15:10 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 2:

You fall asleep in the movie theater.

02:15:11 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 1:

I'm the great. Well, I do. But I like their chairs better than mine. They're more comfortable than all right. But radio is one of those things I've always been a traditionalist about. And so I'm a traditionalist where I would like to listen to my shows and I would like to hear the show live when it's happening, because to be perfectly honest with you, I want to be able to comment, even though I never call a show. I've never, I do this, I listen to the sports shows in the afternoon. I listen to Mike Villani a little bit, and there are times where I've just wanted to call in, and there's times actually where I have called in, and I'll call in.

02:15:45 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 2:

Just use a fake name.

02:15:45 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'm usually Dave from Davisburg. I don't know, for some reason, if you ever heard Dave from Davisburg, that's me. And I'll make a comment or two, like if I, you know, disagree with Mike or whatever. But, all right, so long story short, here, I'm going back. A lot of people commenting just this hour about the semen-smelling trees, okay, the sea trees. So a lot of people commenting on that. But then let me go back to earlier in the show, and there's some very interesting comments on things. The topic about KP has gotten a lot of people talking. But not just about KP, but also about Kev, the new member of the show. Listen to this. So this morning, KP was talking about how she met this dude at the hoedown and she was making out with the guy. And then they went out to his car and she was, you know, I don't know what was going on. What was just making out still, right?

02:16:43 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 2:

He wanted to show her a photo of his Harley.

02:16:46 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that is the worst line ever. I want to show you a photo of my Harley. That's usually the line that I use, too. I want to show you a photo of my Harley. Well, KP saw by looking at some more pictures, by scrolling over, that there was some girl that was in the photos and realized this girl has got to be a relationship. So it has to be a girlfriend. So long story short, she told the story about how she blocked this guy, but then this guy had been texting her about kissing. His girlfriend saw the pictures or saw the text messages, and then called KP from her phone number, and then she put the guy on blast. And it was actually, honestly, a really interesting conversation. You should go back and listen to it. I promise you, you will not be upset with me for that. Well, Kev, you made a comment during the thing. I did. And in your comment, you said that you thought that KP doing what she did was by her calling out the guy, that you thought that that, you know, I don't know your exact words because I'll have to go back and listen to it, but what were your exact words? It was kind of like, you thought that she put him on blast.

02:17:53 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 2:

Let that man cook. Let that man cook. She let the man cook.

02:17:56 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 1:

Only you could say that because I couldn't say let that man cook. I would sound very uncool saying that. Listen to some of these text messages. Kenyatta, who texts us all the time. Kev, you about to get in trouble again. Another text one here. 810. I just lost all my respect for Kev. He wants to protect a cheater. Another person here texting goes, This new guy, Kev, had me for a couple of days, and then he just said to KP that this guy should be allowed to do what he was doing. I think that's wrong. I don't know if I can listen to your show anymore. That was from 248. 313 says, listening to what's going on is infuriating me. I cannot believe, Mojo, that you would allow a member of your show to be so disrespectful to women by saying what he said. First off, let me just say this to you. I don't believe at all, and I know Kev. He is not a disrespectful to woman guy, all right? I've worked with some of those before, and I'm going to say this to you. They didn't last very long on the show.

02:19:06 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:19:08 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 1:

Kev is a very respectful guy. Matter of fact, if you ever get a chance to meet his girlfriend, and I can't wait to meet his mom, I'm assuming that both of those guys could beat his ass. I know his girlfriend could. But I like the idea that you said that. I like it. And I'm going to say why I like it. I like it because guess what? I, deep down inside, wish I had the guts to say it. You don't always have to agree with a person's opinion.

02:19:37 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, that's the beauty of this show. is everybody has their own opinion about very different things and sometimes somebody's opinion might surprise you. But again, that's what this show is all about.

02:19:49 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

734. Bye, Kev. Look, look. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. I love my future wife, Sherelle Hogan. One day she will be Sherelle Orwell. I will never...

02:20:00 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 2:

I never cheat on Sherelle. Never have I ever cheated on Sherelle. But one thing that I do, and I encourage everyone else to do, is mind the business that pays you. That's not my business. I'm not going out of my way to make it my business. That's all I'm saying. And double down.

02:20:19 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 3:

Period. Period. And I will say this to you. I think boring I listen to a lot of radio For those that don't know this I'm a radio nerd I am I'm kind of a radio nerd And I listen to a lot of radio shows And one of the things that frustrates I'm sorry, I use that person's word Infuriates me When I listen to other radio shows Is when everybody goes Oh my god You go, that's the greatest thing ever KP, great job doing this thing I mean, I'm not saying what she did wasn't great. It was awesome. But if everybody goes and says that, guess what? Next topic. You know why? You know why next topic? Because it's boring. Goodbye. Everybody can't have the same comment. Everybody can't sit there and say what they want to say, you know, that's the same thing. Otherwise, we move to the next topic. Go to hell. Yes, I love you. So it drives me crazy when I listen to shows and I hear, oh, my God, you, my mother's listening, my sister's listening, my wife is listening, my girlfriend is listening. By the way, if you have a wife and a girlfriend at the same time, you might be the guy at the hoedown. If you are one of those people that sits there and goes, we need to respect, we need to do this, we need to do that, guess what? That's J Towers in the morning. You got that already We are a show that occasionally needs to like You know we need to toe the line a little bit And I'm not going to say that I'm going to be the one Towing the line because guess what I got a wife, kids And a bank account And I got to keep it protected I can't be the one doing it

02:22:04 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 4:

I think people forget every time Any one of us says anything on this show No matter what it is Somebody agrees with us And somebody disagrees with us Every single time It's so dumb. It drives me crazy.

02:22:19 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

And let's be honest, it's also our job to call each other out and learn and move on and change each other's opinions and talk things through. It would be so boring if we didn't.

02:22:28 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 3:

And I hate to say this. I really do hate to say this. But I hate to say that I've got a couple of radio shows in mind that have done the radio that some of these haters on text and tweets and some of the comments on social. Which, by the way, if that thing doesn't become a social post, I'm going to be pissed. Because that was a really good post.

02:22:50 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I have already edited that, baby. Explain this to me.

02:22:54 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 3:

Let me say something real quick. Why is it that you always edit the ones that involve you first? I do not do that. When is the six on sex getting up there?

02:23:01 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 6:

I uploaded that three hours ago. Thank you. Thank you very much.

02:23:05 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you.

02:23:05 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 6:

Take that back, by the way. I'm very fair with who I feature in social media.

02:23:08 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 3:

Three hours ago, but it was already 24 hours ago that it happened. Anything that involves me.

02:23:12 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 6:

I heard that a couple hours late, remember?

02:23:14 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 3:

Anything that ever involves me gets uploaded two days later.

02:23:17 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 6:

No, that's not true.

02:23:19 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 3:

All right, so go back to what I was saying about radio people. So I listen to the radio shows, and they all sit there, or people that hate on this thing. And I sit there and I think to myself, they're going to pass their judgment, they're going to say this stuff, they're going to talk about how much they don't like the Kevin comment and stuff. And I get it. Listen, you don't like it? Guess what? You got an opinion. Now guess what? You're different than some other people. that's what we're trying to do as a radio show. Not everybody should have the same opinion.

02:23:48 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 2:

And too many people are scared, to be honest, because they think they're going to be ridiculed for their real opinion. So they never live in their truth. I'm not for that.

02:23:55 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

That's how people deserve to be ridiculed. That's true. That's very true.

02:23:59 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 3:

Rubio, tell me that you're calling up right now to tell Kevin that he's an idiot. Go ahead, please. See, that's not what I'm saying. I agree with Kevin.

02:24:07 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Rubio!

02:24:07 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:24:09 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 1:

I do. Look, I don't agree with what the guy was doing, but I agree with Kevin's perspective on it.

02:24:14 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

So you agree Kevin's perspective, you don't, because some people believe that when Kevin said what KP did was wrong, some people think that Kevin is condoning a cheater. Is he condoning a cheater?

02:24:30 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 1:

He's not condoning a cheater. He's just saying, let that man do whatever he's doing. Just let him be. Like, he wasn't KP's boyfriend. They weren't talking. Just let the guy Do whatever he's doing You go your other way And let that be that

02:24:45 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay So I think people misinterpret sometimes Like some comments can be said And sometimes there's a misinterpretation of Oh you guys You know You guys hate You know

02:25:00 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 1:

You're this. That's where I think things have gone wrong in our world these days is that people will sit there and everything has got this black or white type of a feel to it where you cannot be on, you know, oh, you're a Democrat. Oh, you're a Republican. Oh, you're whatever. I'm going to do this. And I think what you did this morning by speaking your piece was actually awesome. I thought that that was great. But I love that. I loved it. I love that hours later, it's funny, because I thought that we had some really interesting things that we were talking about today. For God's sakes, we talked about a tree that smells like semen.

02:25:39 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 2:

That one was funny.

02:25:41 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 1:

But there's still, Rubio, there's still people that are texting in this morning. I was listening earlier this morning, and I could not get an opportunity to say this. I think the new person that you guys hired, Keith, Keith is really a bad representation of what we should have on the radio in Detroit

02:26:01 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 2:

you're right but we've got Kev

02:26:04 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 1:

this is so embarrassing embarrassing for your radio station and iHeartMedia I would like to send a radio to your station manager by the way I love when people call him the station manager your station manager needs to get a you know some kind of response Mojo for all the years that you have been in radio you have been getting all kinds of positive accolades for the comments that you have said. How dare you for not sticking up?

02:26:30 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

How dare you? Oh, I love when the how dare you or shame on you comes out. Those are my favorite comments. Who's agreeing with Mojo on anything ever? Right, exactly. That Mojo ain't no good. Shame on you, Keith. But I'm so glad you made that distinction because I'm not condoning cheating. KP is a beautiful young lady that deserves the best. But that particular situation, in my opinion, should have happened and ended in the parking lot. To be fair, once you kiss somebody, put your tongue down their throat, everything's their business now.

02:27:03 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you never explain. I can just hear Mama KP telling you this.

02:27:07 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 2:

You never explain.

02:27:08 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 1:

What kind of a kisser was he? Was he a good kisser?

02:27:10 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 2:

He was pretty good, actually. Was he? Really? It was very good, yeah.

02:27:13 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 1:

He smelled pretty good. Wow.

02:27:15 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

Not condoning what he did.

02:27:18 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, now you're going to get the hate. people are going to be like, how dare you say that he's a good kisser? Megan already told me I have terrible taste in men, but we knew that already.

02:27:26 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 2:

No, I said you attract plain bagels.

02:27:30 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 1:

Alright, I wanted to address this. I appreciate everybody giving me the opportunity to kind of have a little bit of a forum on this. And Rubio, thank you for calling in and being honest on this. You're the only person that agrees with Kevin.

02:27:44 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 2:

Love you, Rubio.

02:27:46 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning show. So Kev was taking an Uber, and the Uber driver gave him a very nice compliment. Do we have any Uber drivers that are listening to the show right now? If you are, listen up, because we're going to need you to call in here in a second.

02:28:00 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have had some pretty interesting experiences as a passenger through Uber over the years. And I know I'm not the only one, right? And one of my favorite things to do when I get into Ubers, actually, is to ask drivers, what was the craziest experience you had? So as I've mentioned before, someone ran into my parked car. And I've been dealing with insurance, who I'm going to go with. Finally made the decision yesterday, and I'm going to pick up my rental car today. So how I've been getting around is either with Sherelle's car or an Uber. Sherelle's your girlfriend. Yeah, Sherelle is my girlfriend, who I am loyal and faithful to. To everyone out there, especially her. So I get in the Uber, and we haven't even gone a mile yet. And the guy literally goes At first I hear him sniff He's like And I'm like He's like I can tell you washed your ass today No he did not I swear to God I swear to you And I'm like at first There's like silence I'm like By the way

02:29:07 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 1:

That might be the greatest compliment ever

02:29:10 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm not mad I'm not mad that might that might be yes it's like because the girls i dropped off before you and they had to go to work you could tell they stink but you you washed your ass thank you sir uh i would have been choking laughing i'm now very scared because nobody's

02:29:32 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 1:

ever said that to me that by the way is the greatest i have to tell you that there's nothing worse than getting into an uber that smells and it happens a lot and can i say to the uber drivers that are listening to the show and i really want you guys to know i do this with most respect stop using those horrible smelling air fresheners in your car that smell worse than whatever body odor you could possibly have in your car there are some of these ubers that have them first off i don't need to smell vanilla unless i'm in a strip club you know but sometimes it's so strong you it like tickles your throat yeah it's it's honestly getting to a point now where i said we took a lot of ubers this weekend when we were away and uh the ubers that we we were in two things that drove me crazy one was the smell the other one was the one uber guy picked us up in a gmc denali suv beautiful brand new it looked like black on black gorgeous the guy accessorized so much of the interior of this car he ruined what the the company with general motors and gmc do he put like i had in my seat in the back that i was sitting in with chelsea and luke i had a beaded back like you've seen some of these taxi cab drivers have like first of those beaded back things it's uncomfortable i'd rather feel the leather of the thing but i think he was doing it to try to protect his leather and then his steering wheel was fur no he had fur on his steering wheel and i'm like you just ruined that car why would you do that to that vehicle but um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if you're an uber driver do you compliment your customers by telling them that they must have cleaned their ass today what's up tiffany hey i don't say that but i have

02:31:30 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 2:

definitely told people that they smell amazing because 80 of the people that i get in my car smell terrible they either smell like basement like that mildew smell or no shade to like the foreigners but they smell they smell spicy like it smells spicy in here when they leave so yes most people stink um and yes the good thing that you don't kev

02:31:58 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 1:

what a nice compliment for him thank you um are you a type of person though that likes a guy like kevin your car like do you want somebody that actually uh does the whole uh i'm gonna interview

02:32:12 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 2:

you thing because i do that too like kevin does oh i don't mind questions i actually kind of think it's better for people to talk to me than to sit in the back like weirdos because when they do that I just turn the radio up and I have a car concert you get a free concert with your ride today but if they want to chat like I'm always going to be a chatty catty and it's actually really interesting how often especially men get in and they treat me like they're therapists they're like let me tell you what happened like blah blah blah and I think maybe because I'm a stranger I don't have like sure you're a third party yeah exactly but i wish i could do taxi cab confessions over style because that'd be great i tell you the shenanigans yeah the shenanigans you've seen some

02:32:57 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 4:

people do some bad things in the back of your car do that as a topic uber driver confessionals

02:33:02 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 1:

or something love that dj what's up it's mojo in the morning oh what's going on everybody nice to

02:33:07 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 3:

Good to meet you, Kev, by the way, new guy. What's going on? What up, DJ? What's going on? I was waiting for y'all to talk about this, man. So I had a group of girls the other day. I was driving my minivan in the Uber XL, right? I picked them up from their restaurant or whatever downtown, and the second girl that gets in the van, she goes, oh, my God, sir, let me just thank you right now because your van smells so good. The guy who drove us down here, his van smelled like beating ass. and then the whole ride it was silent because he wouldn't turn on the radio so she was like we were just riding in silence and funk the whole way it's the worst i've actually gotten out of

02:33:45 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 4:

an uber early because i couldn't take the smell anymore and then you have to get a new uber

02:33:49 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 3:

yep i would cancel the trip i also wanted to say i've had a couple people get in there i don't really say it to the women often because i don't want to seem like a creep but i'm like a huge like fan of like cologne and fresh scents i got a ton of cologne in my closets and stuff and when guys get in and they smell good i'll tell them straight up look don't you know don't take this the wrong way but you smell pretty good what what are you wearing and a couple times they would tell me i'll add it to my list or whatever not going by it because it smells great but i don't like to tell the women that because i don't want to see my creek well

02:34:16 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 1:

it's funny i would actually i actually have wanted to tell people that they smell good but exactly what you just said i have a hard time doing it because i'm afraid that they're going to look at

02:34:25 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 3:

me strange you know right they'll take it the wrong way some people can't take the time to I just want to say, hey, look, you smell good. I'm not trying to touch you.

02:34:31 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 1:

Right, exactly. I'm just trying to smell. Although, you know what? Sometimes it's like you think that your Uber driver might be taking you to the wrong destination or something. I don't know. There's that, too.

02:34:40 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

Some people can't take a compliment. I'm stuck in your car. I don't want to be on car. I just want to tell you you smell good. Don't take me home and lock me in the basement. Exactly.

02:34:48 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call. All right, top trending stories of the day. God, there's some interesting ones here today. Let me start with... Okay, I'll start with this one. Did you guys hear the story about all these AI people that have come out, these AI leaders that are coming out saying that there's a huge risk with AI? And they're now coming out saying that there was hundreds of AI industry leaders that have signed a stark one-sentence letter warning that artificial intelligence they are developing could one day pose a threat to humanity. Now, we've talked about this numerous times, but many of these people that have created this thing are saying bad things about it, and it makes me think to myself, well, then why the hell did you create it?

02:35:43 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 2:

This scares me so much. I might sound like an idiot admitting this. I am too scared to even go on ChatGPT and try it out, Like, even go to the site or the app. I don't even know if it's a site or an app. It's an app now, yeah. You can get it in the App Store. I'm literally so nervous to even download it to my phone because I'm scared. Like, I'm scared.

02:36:04 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 1:

The statement reads, mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside of the scale risks of pandemics and nuclear war. And then it was signed on by 350 researchers and AI executives, including that guy from Google that was one of the people that was one of the main people that did it. Experts warned that AI could lead to misinformation, could potentially lead to the white-collar jobs being obsolete and losing jobs, also could lead to the possibilities of people never learning enough to be able to be smart enough to get on with their lives because they're using AI as their way to get about doing it. This is a sad fact. One in four homeowners are house poor. So if you live in areas like Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, the highest house poor areas, they say that you have barely enough money to actually make your mortgage payments. And this is because of the rising costs of everything that's going on right now. But also people got into these homes at a point where they should never have gotten into it. And this is a problem that I'm starting to hear from some friends that are like real estate agents, people who are selling their homes because they know they can make a lot of money only to find out that they can't find a place to live. And it's they can't afford to where they're going to go because of the expenses of things. Gen Z teens are so unruly that malls are now requiring that they come with chaperones and supervision even during the day.

02:37:42 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 3:

So a lot of I have that for like decades. Well, I think at night. At night.

02:37:46 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:37:47 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 4:

We've had that here forever. Really?

02:37:49 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:37:50 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 4:

Is that a Gen Z thing? Also, look at malls. They're not really thriving right now. Maybe you shouldn't be instituting these rules.

02:37:58 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 1:

Why don't the malls do this? Why don't they actually let the Gen Zers just go in there and skateboard all over the place or something?

02:38:03 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 4:

No, not even that. Charge them. If you're really that worried about it, put more security cops in there. But, like, you're killing your own industry.

02:38:10 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think, but I also, don't you also get the sense, though, that there's more and more, like, upheaval with things, like, where people are just doing crazy crap?

02:38:19 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 4:

No, I think there's more and more people not tolerating kids. And, like, this is coming from me. So, come on. It's got to be true if I'm even counting it and saying, hey, I think we're being too crazy. But, like, kids can't do anything anymore. Like, when we were little, we were able to go wherever we wanted. And now kids don't have places to go.

02:38:39 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, I also think that parents don't beat kids' asses like they used to, you know? Like, my dad would have kicked my ass.

02:38:44 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 4:

There's a medium there. I don't think you have to go from no freedom whatsoever to hitting kids. Well, my dad never hit me.

02:38:50 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 1:

He just threatened to beat my ass.

02:38:51 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 4:

You literally just said beating kids.

02:38:53 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 1:

No, my dad would threaten it. He never hit me, I promise you. But he threatened to hit me and beat my ass. Let me just say this to you, though. TikTok is the reason why they're saying that people will go, you know, everybody sees stuff on TikTok, and that's what's caused for them to go out and do stuff. Matter of fact, they were talking yesterday on the news about the number of things. Did you hear about what Lydia had happened to her in the parking lot of Meijer? The guy was doing donuts in Meijer and then hit her car. They're saying that they're blaming TikTok and the fact that everybody wants to be a viral sensation with the fact that people are just idiots.

02:39:25 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, people were being idiots before the internet existed.

02:39:28 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 3:

No. There's a spike, though, with these pranks in particular where people are just running up doing dumb stuff just hoping that they hit that one million views. Go viral.

02:39:37 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 1:

I like this. Fat people are now protected group in New York. Thank you, Mr. Mayor, on this one. So, yes, you guys want to mess with me. I'm going to New York City. Mayor Eric Adams signed a controversial discrimination law that makes it illegal for employers or landlords to discriminate against anyone based on their height or weight. And listed as a protected category now, along with traits like race, religion, and sex, is whether or not you're fat or you're heavy. Fat boy. If you are somebody that has ever been discriminating against, and it does happen, by the way. Yeah. People always kind of look at you, and they'll look at people in ways. You know, I feel horrible. I mean, I know that a lot of people sometimes will go, oh, they can do something about it. But you don't look at people that have drug addiction or look at people that have an alcohol addiction and say, oh, you know, how dare they? You know, you're a little bit more sympathetic.

02:40:38 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy how different you're treated when you are overweight. And I can say that because I have been a thin adult and I have been a fat adult. And I am treated so differently as a fat adult than I am as a thin one.

02:40:48 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever see those undercover shows where, like, the supermodel puts on the fat suit just to see what guys will do and then takes the fat suit off?

02:40:56 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 3:

They always end up crying. They always end up crying.

02:40:58 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 1:

I know. I do, too, when I'm watching it. There's been more and more talk these days about this, but they're saying that there's a big decline in men's testosterone, and they are now blaming it on something, and it has nothing to do with anything chemical that's actually like something that you're digesting. They're saying testosterone is plummeting in men, and they're blaming porn. They say that your hormones are because porn is so accessible and your sex drive is so much higher than it used to be that it's causing your testosterone levels to deplete. And they're finding that, and this is a Cleveland Clinic, by the way, that's saying this. They're saying that according to Cleveland Clinic, low testosterone affects about 2% of men with symptoms ranging from depression, loss of hair, reduced libido to erectile dysfunction and sperm count. And they're saying it's happening more and more With 20 somethings So guys are getting You know Low testosterone at an early age While You would think that that would be the opposite right

02:42:07 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 4:

So that's I'm just trying to think in my brain Like I obviously I'm not a science I'm not a scientist but I would think If they were constantly Watching porn that their testosterone Would be higher

02:42:18 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 1:

Maybe they're doing too much of the You know what Maybe. Did you hear about the senior prank that caused for some kids in Maryland to get in trouble? A Maryland high school senior prank. They listed their school on Zillow for $42,069.

02:42:36 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 3:

They stole it from us. We made it on MTV doing that in high school. Did you really? Yes, we did. We put Northview up for sale. We listed it with a realtor and everything.

02:42:44 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 1:

The now-deleted listing said, this nice half-working jail is for sale. For a steal. With 15 bathrooms, it comes with its own sewage issues. A spacious kitchen and dining facility, plus your own private basketball court. $42,000 on Zillow.

02:43:05 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, MTV used to have a show where they would feature senior pranks at the end of the year. It was like a special that they would do. And we made it one year for putting our school together. What a great show idea. I know, right? Yeah.

02:43:13 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 1:

A school in Texas, Marlin High School, had to cancel its graduation ceremonies for this weekend because only five seniors were found eligible for graduation. Out of the entire senior class, only five of them have actually hit all the prerequisites passing-wise in order to do it. So now they're going to have to put off their graduation for another month while the school figures out a way to get all those other kids back up to speed, which is wild. Why did they not realize that ahead of time?

02:43:43 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 4:

How did they not realize that?

02:43:44 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I know you guys are thinking about going on vacations. Have you guys heard of sky plaguing? So sky plaguing is a new way to shave off about $1,200 on long haul flights to like Europe.

02:44:01 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 2:

Tell me more.

02:44:02 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 1:

So here's what you do. In order to save money, if you're booking a flight where you say, for instance, want to go to like Amsterdam, Instead of booking a flight from New York to Amsterdam, book a flight from New York to another destination, and then from that destination, go to Amsterdam, and then fly through Amsterdam, saving you a ton of money. They found that people that did this actually were able to save thousands of dollars on their airfare if you just added a destination.

02:44:35 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 4:

Here's my question.

02:44:36 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 1:

And then you change your return flights to match that. Where does your luggage go then? Because I can never just carry on luggage

02:44:43 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 3:

You can do this domestically too With a website called Hopper Hopper.com You have to have a carry on

02:44:49 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Shannon here's what they say About the luggage and stuff Skip lagging is a very risky bet They do reserve the right to

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 4:

uh go after you for more money they could cancel your your frequent flyer account so it's called

02:45:05 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 2:

skip lagging i thought it was sky but why why can they go after you you're paying what you would pay they say that and you're making the plane lighter for the next trip which is less gas money

02:45:16 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 5:

they say that by doing this that you're causing for issues with the airlines as far as who's where where you're flying and stuff like with their like oh with like their the tsa's and all the

02:45:27 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that they have to keep about the plane

02:45:29 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 5:

But they say that you should carry on if you do it That carrying on would make it much easier Than if you check your bags If you check your bags, you're screwed And finally, one last one about airlines Did you hear about Air New Zealand? That is weighing passengers before they get on board So the New Zealand Is there a reason? The New Zealand airline said that they're doing it Just for survey purposes They're asking you, just like when you go to the doctor To remove your shoes Take your keys out of your pocket and step on the scale and it just so happens to be the same scale that they put your bags on.

02:46:01 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 6:

No way. No, no, no, no.

02:46:02 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 5:

They say that the travelers will stand on the digital scale, the information will be recorded and the agent won't even know how much you weigh. They're just recording it to try to be able to tell how much weight is going on their planes so that they can keep it as an average.

02:46:18 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 2:

No. No, no, no. Unless you give me $100 off my ticket. Unless you fly. Maybe I'll do it.

02:46:23 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 5:

Unless you fly into New York and that mayor's in there saying no no that's right by the way i would never want to do it because i don't even like going to my doctor and getting on that scale like that's the worst feeling in the world yeah but

02:46:34 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 2:

you could get on it backwards they don't have to tell you what you want do you do that when i was pregnant i did that every single time i didn't want to know i didn't want it to screw with my my head i just wanted to be happy their judgmental eyes still convey what i don't want to know

02:46:47 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 5:
