Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Happy Friday. It's going to be a nice weekend. Actually, I haven't looked. Are we still going to be having these 90-degree temperatures over the weekend? I didn't even look at the weather. It's wild because it's been like 90 degrees, but for some reason it doesn't feel like 90 degrees because I don't think the humidity is that bad.

00:03:10 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we're going to be high 80s tomorrow, low 80s Sunday.

00:03:15 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 6:

And still no rain in the forecast, right? Correct, yeah. It's going to be nice. We deserve it. You know what? We do. Absolutely, please. Grand Prix's coming. It's time. Mike's still on paternity leave. He'll be back on Monday, which we got, by the way, I'm like inundated with listeners wanting updates from Mike. So maybe we'll have to call him today just to see how he's doing because we haven't checked in in a little bit. Are we trying to give him a little bit of rest? Yeah. Kev, the new guy, KP Lydia. I'm slapping my microphone around. And Misfit Steve And we got a Friday edition of the show How you guys doing?

00:13:59 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

Good Feeling great

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Now I'm feeling great

00:14:01 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

That was like a good start to the morning

00:14:03 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 3:

You guys got big plans this weekend? Anybody got big stuff going on? I got like 18,000 graduation parties to go to

00:14:10 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

I have a super busy weekend too I'm going to that Best of Hour Detroit party tonight Yes Congratulations Shannon That'll be so fun I'm going to a place I've always wanted to go tomorrow called the Barn Sanctuary, which is like this, it's like, it's over in Chelsea. It's literally like a rescue and rehab for farm, barn, farm animals. So I'm going there with my family because obviously my mom's like really big into horses and stuff. So we're going to go there. And then on Sunday is my little guy's birthday. It's Smith's birthday. So we're having a little birthday party.

00:14:44 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 3:

How old is Smith turning? Six. Oh God, I feel old. Cool party.

00:14:48 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 1:

I've been with you guys for six years. Megan started when

00:14:53 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

Shannon was on maternity leave Like Mike's on paternity leave Right now

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Happy early birthday Smith

00:15:00 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 1:

I wanted to say really quickly what I'm doing tomorrow because I'm really excited about it. What do you got? I'm going to be hosting Finley's Pride. Oh, nice. So fun. I'm going to be on Pride literally all day and all night and then even brunch the next morning. So it'll be fun. That's exciting.

00:15:14 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. By the way, June, Pride Month. We got a lot of Pride activities going on, so we will give you details about that. I know Ferndale Pride's going on this weekend, too. We'll be out and about there, so that will be good. But Kev, the new guy, and his lovely lady and my lovely lady were going to dinner on Saturday night. Yes, indeed. And then that's when Chelsea has to pull Kev's girlfriend aside and give her a little talking to about, I told her, I said, make sure that she knows that when he says something on the radio that really might upset her or there might be something, because you already got yourself in a little bit of trouble this week, Make sure she understands that he really is a good guy And she goes, oh no, I'm not getting into that

00:15:59 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 2:

Come on Chelsea, I need you, I need your support

00:16:02 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 4:

She won't have your, let me tell you this She will have Sherelle, your girlfriend's back More so than she will ever have your back I can't even learn that And actually everybody's kind of learned that Because everybody on the show, whoever your significant others are Chelsea has their backs more than your backs Because she knows what it's like to be that person In Megan's case, Coraline, your dog

00:16:24 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 2:

Also, look, before we go to dinner, I've got to shout out my son, too. The award ceremony for his best-in show at the 55th Michigan Student Film Festival. That's taking place Saturday.

00:16:32 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 4:

And you guys are going to do some cool family stuff by everybody being together, right? That's good. Yes, indeed. Sharing section. Coming up here in just a matter of moments, we do have a chance for you to win Taylor Swift, Drake, and Ed Sheeran tickets. We're going to give you a word to text in for that. A lot of breaking dirty news this morning. A lot of stuff going on. And coming up before the 5 at 6.55, it's the car that makes Shannon horny. And her man just went out and bought it. Wow. I had no idea that this did this. What is it? We live in the automotive capital of the world.

00:17:08 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 5:

That's right.

00:17:09 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 4:

And we have to find out what it is. The horny car coming up.

00:17:13 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Mornings back in the day. Let's go. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:18 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 4:

All right, this was the year that the Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps was under fire for being photographed smoking weed out of a bong.

00:17:28 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

With every mistake that you make, you obviously have to pay for the consequences that come your way.

00:17:33 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 1:

When you knew that pitch was coming out, how did you feel?

00:17:37 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 3:

Not too good.

00:17:38 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it was also the year that the Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup against the Red Wings.

00:17:48 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, screw him.

00:17:52 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 4:

And we kicked off our throwbacks today with this song. Empire State of Mind, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys was the big song of the year. What year was it? We'll grab a winner, and we'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning next. Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:18:24 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 5:

We gonna take you back in the... It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. Tell us when this stuff happened.

00:18:32 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 4:

All happened in the same year. Michael Phelps got caught smoking on a bong.

00:18:36 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 3:

With every mistake that you make, you obviously have to pay for the consequences that come your way.

00:18:41 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 1:

When you knew that pitch was coming out, how did you feel?

00:18:46 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 3:

Not too good.

00:18:47 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 4:

The Penguins beat the Red Wings, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, to win the Stanley Cup.

00:18:56 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 5:

Sidney Crosby and the Penguins.

00:19:00 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 4:

00:19:26 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Tonight, I hope you don't have any plans. I know it's kind of a last minute.

00:19:31 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 5:

No.

00:19:32 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 4:

No, you got it. Michigan Lottery Amphitheater. You got a pair of tickets to see Louis Tomlinson, the One Directioner. And I actually have seen video of his tour recently. Somebody actually posted a video of him doing a couple of One Direction songs. It actually sounded pretty good. I was like, wow, that's actually pretty good. That sounded good. We'll set you up with the prize. Have a great weekend.

00:19:55 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 1:

30, Shannon. Well, amid rumors that he's been left blind and paralyzed after suffering a stroke, Nick Cannon said he believes Jamie Foxx will update fans on this mysterious health scare that sent him to the hospital back in April when he's ready. He was doing an interview with Billy Bush from Extra, and Nick said, you know, Jamie's very professional, but very, very private, and when he's ready, he will talk to fans about his health scare in a way that only he can and so Billy asked Nick who is a friend of Jamie's about the reports that Jamie suffered specifically from a stroke and if he could get an update on his condition to which Nick answered I'm probably in the same boat as you in that in the same sense of just knowing that you as a friend trying to be respectful as I can I don't pry. I don't ask questions. And other than the information that's given to me and what's asked of me, I'm not saying anything. So I'm really just trying to keep it private. Yeah, that story,

00:22:01 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 2:

by the way, that A.J. Benza story from the other day that you reported has really gone even more

00:22:06 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 4:

viral all over the place. The COVID shot caused a blood clot, which caused a stroke,

00:22:13 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 2:

which left him blind and paralyzed. And they're saying that Jamie's family's really upset. and it's not at A.J. Benza for doing the story, but they're very upset about how things have been going where there's been so much speculation to what's been happening with Jamie. And they also, supposedly, there was a rumor that they were upset at the movie company because the movie company has put pressure to get answers as to his condition because they want to finish this movie, right?

00:22:40 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. President Joe Biden tripped and fell again. This time it was during the Air Force graduation ceremony yesterday. He was the featured speaker at the graduation in Colorado. He was speaking and handing out diplomas. And at the end of the ceremony, as he was saluting and taking hands with the graduates, he tripped over a sandbag and fell on the stage like real hard, landed on his side. Secret Service, along with an Air Force officer, rushed to help him.

00:23:09 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 1:

I got sandbags.

00:23:11 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he said it was his handbag. Got back up on his feet, pointed out, you know, pointed the sandbag, pointed to the sandbag, carried on with the ceremony. The White House issuing a statement saying Biden was not injured. Former President Trump commenting.

00:23:24 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I hope he wasn't hurt. I hope he wasn't hurt. That's too bad. If he fell, it's too bad. That's a bad place to fall when you're making, I think it was the Air Force Academy, right? He's making, that's not inspiring.

00:23:36 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's interesting. I mean, the prior couple times that he's fallen, the one where he was falling going up the stairs of Air Force One, and then the bike one, I kind of chuckled a little bit. This one I felt really bad for. Oh, yeah, it was bad. Like, I'll be honest with you, it hurt when it happened, but it also, you know, I know the sandbag is there, and I'm thinking to myself, you know, maybe they need to just, like, tell him just don't walk anywhere. Stay put until we come get you. I got to be honest with you. I have no more grandparents anymore. My grandparents died. my grandpa died when he was in his 80s we used to help him in and out of his car all the time like to come into our house and the guy was in actually good shape like kind of biden shape like he was a pretty fit guy but it's still like we didn't want him to fall because the worst thing that can happen to an 80 plus year old man or a guy that's almost 80 like in president's case break your hip well and it spurs on other stuff you know i think that speaks to actually his

00:24:30 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 3:

health and his credit is that he has had these falls and normally they would hospitalize people of his age, but he's in physical enough condition to kind of walk it off, which is impressive.

00:24:42 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 2:

But eventually, you keep falling like this and it ain't good. That's the thing that scares me about this, and that's why I believe that they should walk him to the podium, stand at the podium, and stand at the podium. As a president, though, you have to show strength, and having people help you around does the complete opposite. Yeah, that's true, too.

00:25:00 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 4:

about another old dad Robert De Niro who's gonna turn 80 years old this summer talking about his friend Al Pacino fathering a child in his 80s how is fatherhood at this moment this stage in age

00:25:11 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 1:

listen Al Pacino just had a baby I was told yesterday morning he's a few years older than

00:25:18 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 4:

me God bless him I'm very happy for him yeah and De Niro said he really loves being a parent this late in life how does fatherhood feel for you it was great yeah are you a different parent today

00:25:27 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 3:

than you were however many years ago?

00:25:30 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I have certain awareness, dynamic, family dynamics. You can't avoid learning certain things.

00:25:37 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 3:

Did you do this story about the fact that Al Pacino didn't believe it was his kid and made her get? Oh. So that was on TMZ yesterday when I was watching their show. And he was like, there is no way that at my age I'm getting you pregnant. And he was like that shock that they said on TMZ. Really? So he made her get a DNA test.

00:25:56 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. And lastly, Sam Smith, The Rumors Were True, has teamed up with Madonna for a new single called Vulgar, which is set for release next week. They gave us just a little teaser of it on social media. June 9th is the official drop date for that. They gave us 15 seconds.

Mojo in the Morning show. Now, every car guy is going to sit there and go, Oh, hold on a second. And I've got to listen up because I teased that it's the car that makes Shannon horny.

00:27:29 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 4:

Horny. Why did you say horny?

00:27:33 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Because I don't necessarily know. I don't want to say it because you've got a kid with you. But then I was like, okay, I'll just say it. Makes me horny. It's the car that gets Shannon going.

00:27:45 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I love those pickles.

00:27:46 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 3:

um and what particular car is it well her man just got it and she didn't realize it until he

00:27:55 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 4:

got it that this was the car that kind of got you going huh so wes has since i've known him has driven like a really sporty suv um and then he also has like a really really old wrangler that he and his dad built together and so he it's either one or the other okay uh and then But he needed to trade in his SUV Because it was becoming a money-pisting thing And so he's like, I want to get something new I want to get something new And he wanted a truck really, really bad So he ended up getting a Ram He rolls up in this thing in my driveway yesterday And I didn't know what was happening to my body But there was something And I just had no idea that I was into guys in trucks. I don't think I've ever dated a guy who's driven a truck before.

00:28:49 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so we're talking, this is a Dodge Ram pickup truck, right?

00:28:52 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 4:

It is, yeah. But it's, like, big.

00:28:54 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 3:

So you have seen them on the roads.

00:28:58 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but, like, never thought anything about.

00:29:01 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 3:

Really? No. But until you saw your man driving one.

00:29:05 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:29:05 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 3:

It got you going.

00:29:06 - 00:29:07 | Unknown:

Yeah, it did.

00:29:07 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 4:

Is it when he got out or when you saw him pulling up? When I saw him pulling up. And he had this huge smile on his face. He is so happy in this truck. It is so him. And maybe that was part of it, too. But I was like, wait, wait, wait. Stay right there. I got to take a picture.

00:29:22 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Did he rev the engine?

00:29:23 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 4:

He didn't rev the engine. Actually, no, he did rev the engine. He made me get in the passenger seat to check it out. And he's like, listen to this. I had no idea.

00:29:32 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 3:

So it's the little...

00:29:34 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 4:

I had no idea.

00:29:35 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 3:

Did the reverberation of that make it even better?

00:29:39 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Mm-hmm.

00:29:40 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 3:

Yep. Wow. That's wild. You know, it's, I don't know. That's interesting. I never would have thought that a vehicle could make, you know, a woman excited. I had no clue. Has that ever happened to any other listeners? I mean, it's a good question. car person. Have you ever been turned on by a car, like so turned on that it actually got you going? Yeah.

00:30:05 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Which one? Vroom, vroom, baby, boop. Yeah. No, I don't know if it's a specific car or just the way a guy feels in his car that's the turn on. You know? I am a little bit of a... Oh, it's too early to say that word. Gee, sometimes I forget how early it is. Wait, I want to know what word it is.

00:30:27 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 2:

It's never too early.

00:30:29 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 4:

A little bit of a who? A what? A who? What?

00:30:33 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 2:

A horror. Is that what you're saying? Like a horror movie?

00:30:38 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 4:

For any kind of like fast car. Now, I'm not a challenger girl because you all drive like absolute maniacs and are the worst people on the road. Agreed. You give me like a Mustang. I'm behind that. Any sort of convertible is kind of sexy and hot.

00:30:55 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask, does the sound of the engine revving, like with these guys that come to streetlights and stuff and they rev it, does that turn you guys on? No, that's actually annoying.

00:31:06 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. It's nice. Really? I'm getting catcalled by a machine.

00:31:11 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 3:

It's that horse by a machine. I love it. Oh, my God. Thank you, Steel, next to me right now. This is wild. You know what? But it's funny because we got a lot of very popular vehicles, by the way, the Dodge Ram pickup trucks. I see them all over the place. And it's funny because one of my best buddies in the world, Chad Mitchell, our old producer, has a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Chad, no. It doesn't do it for you? Poor Chad. I love you, Chad. But he's got one. And I will say this to you. I love the looks of them. Like, I do love. Like, I am not. I can't own a pickup truck. I actually, before I got to Tahoe, I was looking at a Silverado pickup because Mike Porter over at Gordon Chevrolet was like, you got to see this thing. It's unbelievable. It was like loaded, beautiful. It was like great. And he had a great deal for me on it. And I got in it and I felt, oh, this is like wasted space in the back because I would never put anything in there. Like I'm not, and I don't want to ask people to ask me to move, you know, to help them move. And that's what, so I was, what I was looking at. So, but I do love the fronts, honestly, out of like the pickup trucks and stuff. I do like the Dodge Ram, you know, truck fronts and stuff. They're really nice. Yeah. What's going on, Ron? How you doing? How you feeling this morning knowing that Shannon's, you know, got a little tingle when she sees those Dodge Rams?

00:32:29 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Hey, if she would jump on a motorcycle, she'd really get going.

00:32:34 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Wow. Oh, yeah, Daddy.

00:32:37 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 6:

I read on a motorcycle magazine, all girls get going on a motorcycle.

00:32:44 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:32:44 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 4:

I've never been on a motorcycle, and they terrify me. Yeah, I get too scared. They're not sexy. They're scary. Yeah.

00:32:50 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 3:

But you're saying that there are women, though, that get on them, and if the guys, you know, rev them a little bit, or they're women revving them a little bit, it actually could turn them on?

00:33:01 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:33:02 - 00:33:07 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I had to try that, Shannon and Megan and KP and Lydia.

00:33:07 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever driven a motorcycle?

00:33:09 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I have. uh the kind of motorcycles that i can drive uh have to be very big motorcycles and i'm not very good at it so i i remember chelsea bought me motorcycle lessons because that's one thing i wanted and i i got so scared i stopped yeah caitlin what's going on it's mojo

00:33:27 - 00:33:51 | Speaker 5:

in the morning hey so good morning everyone we love you um so we love you too um so it's not that's a specific car but when my husband pulls our camper and he pulls up in that driveway or backs it into that that camping spot man oh man i can tell you we've baked cookies quite a few

00:33:51 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 3:

times after that wow you know that's interesting because we've talked with mike who's not in with this morning but we've talked with mike before about the the backing into the parking spot and that's an art form and sometimes it could actually be a turn off if you can't see you know your guy getting it in right oh boy um what's going on dj how are you good good morning everybody i'm doing good how you doing good dj a voice like that turns any woman on it doesn't make a difference what you're driving you could be driving uh a little kia and and you would turn a girl on with

00:34:22 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 1:

that listen i've gotten a few compliments on that but listen first the first thing i want to say is Megan, it's pronounced Hooray before noon. Hooray? Now, my team. That might be the line of the morning.

00:34:39 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 3:

Hooray.

00:34:42 - 00:34:42 | Unknown:

Hooray.

00:34:43 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

No, so I wanted to say what turns me on. I like, okay, it's crazy. I'm crazy I'm about to admit this, but when I see, like, a guy on a motorcycle, like riding, you know, on, like, a Harley-type motorcycle, which is when I just bought, but I'm not the kind of guy. and we have the backwards baseball cap on or whatever, just cruising.

00:35:00 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Not being an a-hole like some bikers are, but that's hot.

00:35:03 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 1:

Guys look cool doing it. Honestly, I got a little guy crush thing going on these guys.

00:35:08 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 2:

They do. Same, right. Yeah. When I see women driving, like, big trucks, like, I work at a dealership. And when I see a woman pull in with, like, this big Yukon or Suburban or, like,

00:35:18 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 1:

Listen, you should see our producer, KP, pull up in a white Silverado. I mean, she looks hot in that damn thing.

00:35:24 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:35:25 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:35:25 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 2:

When she said she got one, I was like, oh, yeah, she's killing it.

00:35:28 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:35:28 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 2:

She's killing it.

00:35:29 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 1:

No, that's good. I need pictures of Wes and his Dodge Ram. Okay. Ram tough. Built Ram tough. That's great. And you need to do what Chad did. Chad ended up getting a specialty horn. He got the Dukes of Hazzard horn. He did not. He did. It was like. No. That would not do it for me. Can you imagine if you. Hard fast.

00:35:51 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:36:27 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's obnoxious.

00:36:28 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 1:

that you did with your dad oh my gosh yeah and we took a picture on the stage with the balloon arch little thing that we had so we're gonna have to do that again yes yes you are and i know that

00:44:56 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 1:

these guys have that plan but because they've been like we're gonna surprise Okay. you with how it's going to look, but that's a great thing in Lydia, the balloon arch picture area for dads to take pictures, because then you can put them side by side on social media. The comparisons are always the greatest. Those make me cry.

00:45:13 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Yeah. This is so

00:45:15 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 1:

exciting. Thanks so much. Jeff is taking Becca. So, Dad Jeff is taking Becca. Katie. Hello. Hey, Katie. Who are you taking to Daddy Daughter Dance?

00:45:27 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 3:

I am taking my stepdad, Paul.

00:45:30 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 1:

Aw.

00:45:30 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 3:

He's so sweet.

00:45:32 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 1:

Tell us.

00:45:32 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm so excited.

00:45:33 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

Tell us about him.

00:45:35 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 3:

He is an amazing dad. Unfortunately, my biological father hasn't been in my life, so he definitely stepped up and he took that role on, and it's meant a lot to me. And he doesn't have any daughters, so I'm his only daughter, so he's never got the opportunity to go to a daddy-daughter dance. And so it's just really special for me to be able to take him to one and have a good time with him.

00:46:02 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 1:

That's cool. So my wife, Chelsea, similar situation where her dad, who was her stepfather, never had kids of his biological own, but took on the role of being dad. And one thing you realize is biological doesn't mean anything when it comes to your heart giving love to another person. yeah absolutely yeah that's that's going to be amazing it's going to be really cool to see you guys there it's going to be a very special night uh so make sure that you you know i don't know if you're are you going to surprise him are you going to call him and tell him hey set this date aside

00:46:36 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 3:

okay so i actually planned on buying the ticket so i kind of called him and i was like hey do you have any plans like june 23rd and he was like no and i'm like all right cool like i got a surprise for us but you got to dress up and he's like what do you mean i'm like like you're gonna have to look nice and he's like what do you mean i'm like suit and tie nice and he starts laughing he goes what do you mean where are we going looking nice and then i told him and he started laughing he goes yeah get the tickets he goes let's go i love it i love it yeah does dad ever check us out does he ever listen to the show yeah he does he does so you're gonna have to play ice ice baby Is that his favorite song? I don't know if it's his favorite But when it comes on he's definitely dancing That's great

00:47:24 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 1:

Done, you know what? Hell, we might be able to get Vanilla Ice to perform Who knows, we'll figure something out for him Alright, I'm looking forward to this Katie You're really sweet You seriously are I'm sure that for your dad Paul You are more of a joy to him than you even know So what an awesome thing for you to call up and win these for them.

00:47:48 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, I appreciate you guys. Thank you as well.

00:47:50 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate it. And a happy belated birthday. I saw Shannon. Oh, jeez, I hung up on her. So call back real quick. Are you there? Oh, jeez. Call right back. I saw it. It was your dad's birthday yesterday. It was.

00:48:00 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're going to celebrate this weekend with him.

00:48:02 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 1:

That's cool. Tim, happy birthday. Mojo on the morning show. So this is the first weekend of all the grad parties that we got going on.

00:48:20 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 3:

How many this weekend do you have?

00:48:21 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

I think we got three this weekend.

00:48:24 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah. That's not terrible.

00:48:26 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

And so it begins. And actually, they're spread out really nicely. I don't know how they do this. Moms are the only ones that figure this stuff out. But moms are the ones that I think that they talk to each other or they have some kind of telepathic ability to be able to know. Here's what time we'll have ours. Here's what time you're going to have yours And they put, what they do is They'll do like open house grad parties Where the family members Like grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and stuff Can come anytime But then they put a specific time For like you to come You know, like your friends in school And the parents and stuff So that they don't feel pressured To try to, you know, go to every single grad party At the same time So it's kind of cool But here's a dilemma And this is something that I wanted to bring up right now And I want to open it up for a little discussion, a little open forum family discussion. We had a grad party for Joe, our oldest son, but Jacob and Luke both decided they did not want grad parties. And the one thing that I remember throwing the grad party for Joe was the anxiety that I had, and be honest with you, the diarrhea that came to me off of the fear of people drinking that were underage at my kid's party because I worried that somebody would do something, get themselves into trouble, and then I would get in trouble, or Chelsea and I would both get in trouble, our family would get in trouble, and then word would get out. And I'm amazed how it seems like now it's not even like an issue anymore.

00:50:00 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 2:

And this is pretty wild, but there are parents that could care less if they're 17, 18, or some cases, some kids, it might even be just turning 19, are drinking at their house with their friends openly, and then the parents get wasted too. And I've been talking to parents who are having parties, and a lot of them are just like, well, there's nothing you can do about it. And I'm like, well, there's something I did about it. What I did about it was I ended up hiring a couple of cops from our little township area that we live in west bloomfield to be at the party they weren't in uniform but they were there and i told joe ahead of time who they were what they looked like and i said tell your friends that they're going to be here yeah and the reason why was i wanted them to because i'm going to be walking around talking to family and friends and taking pictures and celebrating with you know joe i'm not going to have the ability to be able to go get give me that red solo cup what's in that cup you know what's doing all that stuff i wanted those guys to do it and what it turned out to what it turned out to be i know do i sound like a undercover police officers i did yeah it really wasn't that expensive that expensive these guys were great too by the way they turned out to be really good friends afterwards i called the the cop the police department and asked him i know i'm kind of a narc aren't i i'm like the fun hater but you know what i could get like honestly do could you imagine the new story would be mojo from tonight on eyewitness news that you or whatever you know local four at 11 o'clock you know it'd be your girl maura mcdonald oh yeah your story back to you um but here's the thing that people don't understand and this is a law for ohio and michigan it is illegal to provide a place to an underage child to drink parents and this is actually from an from the ohio law that i pulled this off of but then i also duplicated this for Michigan too to see if it was similar. Parents may not provide alcohol to children that are younger than the drinking age of 21 and could face a maximum of six months in jail or a thousand dollar fine. It is illegal also to purchase alcohol for anyone that is under the age of 21 and anyone who purchases it, sells or gives alcohol also could be brought up on charges and face charges so i think that that was the thing that was in my head was i don't want to get myself into trouble you know and and i honestly these parties become you know wild and fun and crazy but then it god forbid a kid goes and tells everybody you got drunk at our house or you know you can't police everybody coming and going and they leave and go somewhere else and get themselves into trouble right so i i throw this out to you guys do you guys think like it's not that big of a deal anymore to like drink at these grad parties or is it just as big a deal and we're just not hearing about it until a tragic thing happens yeah i think it's a big deal

00:52:58 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 3:

um underage drinking is clearly an issue it's not even so much of whether or not you supply it it's going to be there i can reminisce on when i graduated and that was like i had the greatest summer of my life going to every single grab party and there was alcohol at a lot of these parties and a lot of it that was there wasn't supplied by adults. It was people bringing alcohol to the party. So kids were bringing their

00:53:22 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 2:

own stuff like they do probably to parties now and I get that. I know they're drinking. Like I know if Luke's going to a friend's house and stuff and we always have this thing with him. Hey we're not going to be able to be there with you at college so if you're going to drink you better never get behind the wheel of a car because if you do that then you're done and we're not we're not taking care of your college and we're not you know doing anything for you after that see but i've also been to places

00:53:47 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 3:

where parents supplied it and that was their thing they were like you're not going anywhere you guys are sleeping over did they take keys and stuff yeah they took keys but i had my first jaeger bomb with a 16 year old he taught me how to do it i still think even the taking keys like

00:53:59 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 1:

in the in the day and age of uber like let's say a group of the kids sneaks out and gets an uber and then they get into trouble doing whatever, not necessarily drinking and driving, but doesn't that come back on you then too? It doesn't have to just be a drinking and driving situation.

00:54:16 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

I think that there's a lot of cases with this. It could just be plain and simple. Kids get sick or something happens.

00:54:24 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 1:

Right, and somebody has to go to the hospital. You have to call an ambulance or, God forbid.

00:54:28 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 2:

A lot of the people that Luke goes to school with, their parties are at parks and things like that, So they're open. They're not like in backyards of their houses. And then there's some people that, you know, you live on a lake and you're drinking around a lake, which is always kind of crazy. Megan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:54:45 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning. How are you?

00:54:48 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing okay. What are your thoughts on this?

00:54:51 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

So I am a bartender server for a private event staffing company. And I would say the majority... of our events in the summertime are now graduation parties. Parents hire us to come and bartend so that they don't have to worry about that. They know, you know, we have a license, so we have to card everyone who looks under the age of 30. So it really has helped people to be able to enjoy their parties and not have to worry about sneaking drinks. And that's a great idea to have that.

00:55:28 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 5:

It's also a lot of responsibility on your part because if something slips through the cracks, you don't want to get yourself into trouble. But as a parent, that is like what I was talking about with having like the cops at mine was, you know, you got to take a little bit of precautions. Cover your butt. And the problem with throwing at any kind of party is you feel like you don't even talk to enough of the people that are coming and going to the parties, let alone having now to be the bouncer at a party. Kaylin, what's going on?

00:55:56 - 00:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hi. I was calling in because I was a high school teacher for many years and the first thing i would ask students when they invited me was are you guys serving alcohol because i refused to go to any grad parties where the parents were serving alcohol because i didn't want something to happen and then high school teacher at party where there

00:56:16 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 5:

was drinking boy i never thought about that that's that's a big thing and especially if you're in a picture and you're having a drink in your hand just as a normal adult and then there's a kid in the background drinking that too all over social media yep avoiding that all together and it i listen most of these parties are going to have alcohol it's the what they do to try to make sure that they keep a semblance of you know nothing bad happening what's up jessica hello hey am i a narc everybody is calling me a narc right now really no oh my god you should see you should see all the text messages here fun hater mojo is not cool anymore i just imagine i would never go to mojo's son's party you're making your son look like a big loser i just imagine you in a huddle with the undercovers beforehand like all right guys this is what you gotta do you take the left

00:57:09 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 4:

you take the right yeah what do you think jessica so i am in the same situation my daughter just graduated last night and congratulations coming up thank you you as well um and her dad is somebody that lets her drink when she's with him and I do not and so um I'm also a teacher in the district where she graduated from so I'm very much like between a rock and a hard place well not really but um the open house I'm like there's going to be kids there that you know I know and I don't really want to be affiliated with it so i have kind of told her i will be exiting stage left at

00:57:47 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 5:

a certain time and not on me wow that's tough so you guys are not you and her dad are not together

00:57:54 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 4:

and dad's the fun parent yep he's the fun parent and i'm the i'm the the the narc or whatever i'm

00:58:01 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 5:

the the not fun but you know from that last caller that we had that teacher i get it though you not only have to worry about you as a parent you have to worry about your job for sure for sure yeah

00:58:13 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 4:

it's hard and these kids bring their backpacks everywhere and i can i also tell you something

00:58:18 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 5:

though chelsea and i do believe that these kids should have a drink or two like when they're in a controlled environment before they go away to college because i do worry about my son all of a sudden not being able to like understand what it does to you every kid who was ever in a scary

00:58:33 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 4:

situation were the ones that weren't allowed to experiment at home first and they just hold the board. Yeah. I agree. So I'm kind of like grateful that he can be the fun parent and it's in a controlled environment, but I just don't want to be that parent. Yeah.

00:58:46 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I remember at Joe's party, it wasn't necessarily the kids that we worried about because we did have obviously those cops there. It was the radio people from the station that we did. It was guys like Fletch. Yes. You know what I mean? walking around and getting drunk with the kids and on the dance floor and stuff. Alright, well congrats to the graduates. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Oh, look at this. Hold on. Savannah, are you there?

00:59:16 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 3:

I'm here. This is the

00:59:17 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 5:

grad party you want to go to.

00:59:19 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 3:

So we had an ice luge at my party and my dad was so against it. He was about to have a heart attack. He was like, we're not letting anybody drink. I'm drinking the most off of it. Wow.

00:59:31 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 5:

By the end of the night, were all the kids doing it?

00:59:34 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 3:

They were.

00:59:35 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. By the way, somebody just said, since Mojo's party is having no alcohol, maybe it's cannabis friendly. You know, that's the other thing nowadays, too. Because, you know, my last couple of sons, when they graduated, it wasn't legal here. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right. Man, oh, man. Shannon, what is going on in the Dirty on the 30? I'm thinking.

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 4:

about this a week from today we'll be prepared for taylor swift yes yep yep taylor swift by the

01:00:08 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 1:

way has the number two spot on forbes's richest women in music list and the numbers are going to grow even more when the eras tour ends because this tour is expected to get her is expected to Gross, $1.6 billion, which is nuts to me. But according to the richest self-made women list, Taylor is worth $740 million right now. If you're wondering who beat her, who came in at the top, it's Rihanna, who has a $1.4 billion net worth thanks to her music career and her cosmetics line, Fenty, helping her out a lot there. Taylor now surpasses Madonna and Beyonce.

01:00:51 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 4:

Man.

01:00:52 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Rihanna.

01:00:53 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to rich women. We love rich women.

01:00:56 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 1:

Female bosses.

01:00:58 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:00:58 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of Beyonce, a guy had the great idea to propose to his girlfriend during Beyonce's Renaissance tour stop in London. Painful to watch this proposal. I'm talking. I felt like I needed to take Xanax watching this thing. One TikTok user said the proposal is actually stressful to watch. And I agree. So in the video, Beyonce's singing her ballad, One Plus One. and like a circle forms around this unidentified guy and girl, okay? So the man drops to one knee. Everybody obviously knows what he's doing. He holds out his hand for his girlfriend to hold. Well, she's got all these cups in her hand. She's like juggling all the cups. She goes to take his hand. The whole thing already is very awkward. Then the guy drops the ring in the crowd. It was not in a box. And so the future misses, as well as the other fans who are watching this happen in the circle around them. They're trying to look for the ring to help get this proposal back on track. Somebody finally finds it. She did end up saying yes through some tears. But TikTok is calling it the messiest proposal.

01:02:08 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 3:

Words the wise never propose at a Beyonce concert. Why? Your lady doesn't care about you. Beyonce is the only thing that matters at that point.

01:02:18 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Even if it's like a romantic song or something?

01:02:21 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

It does not matter. Do it afterwards, bro.

01:02:23 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 4:

Aren't most of Beyonce's songs, though, to be honest with you, aren't they more like, you know, I hate the guy songs, like kind of like how Taylor's songs kind of can be?

01:02:31 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, Megan can speak to this more. One Plus One is a beautiful record.

01:02:34 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, it's one extreme or the other. It's either I couldn't imagine my life without you, I love you so much, or I'm the boss.

01:02:45 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 1:

And we love that from her. Tom Brady in the process of becoming a minority owner of the las vegas raiders leading to lots of fan speculation that he's going to come out of retirement and be the quarterback for the team i'm certain i'm not playing again so i've tried

01:03:01 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 2:

to make that clear and i i hate to continue to profess that because i've already told people

01:03:06 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 1:

that he said please stop asking me about it i've got a lot of other stuff i want to do

01:03:10 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

i'm looking forward to my broadcasting job at fox next year i'm looking forward to the opportunity head with the raiders the other different things that i'm a part of professionally and in my personal life, just spending as much time with my kids as I can.

01:03:23 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 1:

More trouble for Bill Cosby this morning. A former Playboy model is alleging the comedian drugged and sexually assaulted her and another woman, her friend, in fact, at his home. Now, this was way, way back in the late 60s, but she is suing him, and this is all coming out yesterday. In this brand-new lawsuit, Victoria Valentino said she was an actress and singer 54 years ago when she met Cosby. He approached her at a cafe in L.A. where he spotted her crying. Her six-year-old son had recently passed away. Really tragically, he drowned. So he offered to pay for spa treatments for Victoria and a friend who was with her, then sent to Sofford Carr to pick up the women for dinner. That evening at dinner, Cosby gave them each a pill. He then drove them to his home where Victoria passed out on his couch, later woke up and witnessed him sexually assaulting her friend. Court documents allege Cosby then engaged in forced sexual intercourse with Victoria while she was incapacitated from whatever sort of pill he gave her. Bill Cosby, a spokesperson, said the lawsuit lacks any proof or facts and that these so-called look-back laws violate constitutional rights aimed at protecting crime victims and those that are accused of a crime. So they're going to fight back. And lastly, over 600 high school graduates in Illinois were given stoles. You know, those like long scarf things that had the word graduate misspelled on them. They said graduate.

01:04:52 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Somebody dropped the ball. Somebody did. We didn't realize until like we was walking out the gate. They could have checked before because they made.

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 4:

like 600 plus, and all of them were spelled wrong.

01:05:03 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 1:

We're terribly disappointed and appalled about how they would even pass those out to the students that would embarrass the community, the families, and even the school district should be embarrassed.

01:05:15 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 3:

So the graduates will receive a stole with graduate spelled correctly with their diplomas later this summer. The school is also working on photoshopping the misspelled word from all of the graditation pictures. as well. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:05:34 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. The Mojo in the Morning show. So we have Kev with us. He's our new guy that joined the show just recently. And Kev has a little bit of a problem that I wonder if others can relate to. And that problem is he says he's an old-fashioned kind of guy yeah and that's my that's my old-fashioned thing it's my old man voice and it deals with when he goes out with his girlfriend it deals with

01:06:13 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 4:

who's paying yeah i mean for those who didn't listen yesterday you know go back to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app and listen to today's show but my mom called in yesterday and if you if you could tell from my mom she raised me to be a certain way and there's some things that your parents teach you when you're younger that no matter how old you get or what life tries to teach you what they said sticks with you and my mom like drilled in me through experience like you pay for everything you pay all the bills when you guys go out on dates you gotta you know foot the bill for everything like let your lady be a queen essentially and I feel as though Shirelle's love language is gift giving and i'm a terrible receiver of gifts so there are moments like yesterday for example we went to see little mermaid took josiah i'm an imagine my son took josiah i i like points right so i want to make sure that my membership number racks up everything that i get i just want to stack and stack and stack so immediately i go make sure i get my points cheryl and josiah immediately go to the concession stand and start ordering things like she has to figure out a way that if i don't do this without him seeing he's going to slap the

01:07:21 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 5:

card down before i can even get a chance so she has to fight you to pay for things yeah she'll

01:07:25 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 4:

just immediately pull out the card or like go somewhere else it's already taken care of and

01:07:29 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 5:

how does that make you feel when you realize that she has already paid for all the concession stuff

01:07:34 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 4:

which we know that's more expensive than even the movie i feel like well she didn't allow me to use

01:07:38 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 5:

my points so we had like wait hold on so she paid for it but then you said hold on a second i know you already paid for it but can you use my frequent i told the guy my imagine card here's my cell phone

01:07:47 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 4:

and then we're going to upgrade the drink. We're going to upgrade the popcorn, switch that, switch that.

01:07:51 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 5:

You're like the lady that shopped behind me at Kroger the other day and said she wanted to use her Kroger number on my order.

01:07:57 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 4:

We got it. They're there for a reason. But, yeah, it's kind of like, you know, when people say you're doing a great job and you don't know how to take a compliment, I feel like it's in the same area. Like, I don't know how to just say thank you. I get all weird. And then when Sherelle wants to pay, I get all weird. I don't know how to do it. Well, you're just not used to it. I am.

01:08:14 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 3:

But seriously, because your mama taught you a certain way and probably in every relationship before this, people just let you. I think most guys are like that. I do too, but to see this from Shirelle's point of view, it also is really nice to be able to pay sometimes because, and this might be my own personal opinion, but it does get uncomfortable after a little while. Like, I want to be able to feel like I'm contributing as well, and I'm not just, like, mooching, you know, off of you paying all of the time. How is your fiance with that? Wes, like, it took a while for him to let me pay, and I finally had to, like, actually have a somewhat serious conversation and say, like, I like paying. I am able to pay. I'm blessed enough to be able to pay. It makes me feel weird if you are constantly paying. Like, I want to share the responsibility here with you. And he got it. He still gives me a hard time about it, but it's gotten a lot better.

01:09:13 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's how I am with my girlfriend, Megan, whenever we go out. Megan gets so mad at me with paying. We went out to have breakfast, KP, Lydia, Megan, myself, and actually Kevin. And by the way, I noticed he didn't reach for the bill at all for that. He only feels this way with his girl. He doesn't feel this way with his guy.

01:09:34 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Mojo's got money. You got it.

01:09:37 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 5:

But Megan gets really upset about it. Like, she gets, like, very upset to the point that she has threatened that she'll never eat with me ever again.

01:09:45 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, first of all, I hate feeling like a leech. Like, it's funny coming from me because I always joke about wanting to steal people's money. But, like, truly, I hate when I feel like I'm not contributing or that it— Yes. I know that I'm not using—

01:10:00 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 4:

you for your money obviously when we're going out but it feels like well I'm just going out because he's buying or I fight with my dad a lot about this because my dad refuses to let me pay anytime we go out and I actually legitimately yelled at him and I said you don't have to buy my time like I don't I feel like you're you're paying to spend time with me and that makes me feel less than I just want to spend time with you because I enjoy you as a human but then I feel less than when it comes to the end of the thing, and it kind of taints the whole experience.

01:10:33 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 6:

See, I never thought that somebody would feel less than, but that's interesting. That's an interesting point.

01:10:38 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not saying that every time somebody pays, I'm like, oh my God. But if I can never contribute, I don't want to hang out with you because I don't feel equal. Right, yeah.

01:10:48 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 6:

Listen to this text message here. I don't know if you were trying to call on them, but Kevin's thinking sounds so toxic. Men are not obligated to pay for everything because they're a man. I'm so tired of hearing this old-fashioned men talk.

01:11:01 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it sounds... I would never use the word toxic.

01:11:05 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 5:

I think if I can put my mind where the texture is coming from.

01:11:09 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 6:

Call that person. I want to know if it's a man or a woman texting that. Because it's got to be a woman, I'm assuming, right? Texting that? Or is there a guy? Because no guy. I don't think guys are talking about toxic.

01:11:17 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 4:

You're not saying you are not letting her pay. You're just saying you've been raised a certain way. This is what you want to do for her. But she is pushing back a little bit.

01:11:26 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 6:

He also controls her ordering. too like he's not allowed to order certain

01:11:29 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 5:

that's where I think people are coming from like I don't use this as a control tactic so I can like control everything in the relationship

01:11:35 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 6:

you do it as love by the way do you ever do this when she's paying and you know she's paying do you ever order something less because you don't want her to have to pay for more I never know she's paying oh really yeah because I've had that happen before where I've gone out to eat and actually Shannon you were the one that were like I'm paying for the pill and I feel honestly bad that all I want is the big you know the steak that has the big old like flintstone bone on the top the one that got the steak that's on the menu that you go how do they charge a hundred dollars for a steak that's craziness hold on here's the toxic person that's on the phone who is this hello uh-oh what's your name talk to me my name's

01:12:16 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 3:

carissa i think that this type of thinking is super toxic it's it's like men feel demasculated when they're not able to pay and there's nothing wrong with a woman being able to pay just because you're a man you are not obligated to pay for everything but how is that toxic demasculated might be a good word but not toxic i think it's toxic when it's to the point that you are like it's a causing fights in your relationship or um like i i've i've seen like um like i'm single and i've seen on the dating apps and stuff where men will be

01:13:03 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 4:

i didn't do anything no he didn't he didn't i'm watching him you laughed at her when she said She was single, and then all of a sudden we lose her.

01:13:13 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 6:

How did I laugh at her? I didn't laugh.

01:13:15 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

He just chuckled when she said, I'm single. You went. I got him on video. He didn't do it.

01:13:21 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 6:

I got him on video. He did not hang up on her. Hold on. Watch me pull a rabbit out of my head. I don't think he hung up on her, but he definitely laughed at her. I did not. What I did was I went.

01:13:32 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 4:

I think she doesn't understand what that word means. I don't understand. That's a very strong word. Call back.

01:13:36 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 6:

Call back, person. What's up, Hazy?

01:13:39 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 1:

hi how you doing good what's going on um i definitely do the whole like cinemark does this um point system for free popcorn you're 20 off i definitely take advantage of that and they give

01:13:52 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 6:

you free tickets why would you not i like this out of the entire conversation she got the points part of the thing taylor what's going on it's mojo in the morning hey so me and my boyfriend

01:14:03 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 2:

and just split the bill, like, any opportunity we can, we rock, paper, scissors to see who is going to pay for what.

01:14:11 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 5:

See, Taylor, we've tried that. The problem is I'm so good.

01:14:15 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 6:

I'm so good. Oh, there he goes with his toxic behavior. I'm a narcissist.

01:14:21 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 5:

Rock, paper, scissors me right now. Okay, ready? Are you going rock, paper, scissors, shoot? Yeah. Okay, bet. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. I won. Okay, do it again. One more time. Why? I won. That's a three. Do it again. One, two, three, three. I won. God damn it. I'm pretty good. What the heck? If only I could be as good at throwback photos. What was Shannon saying? Rock, paper, three, three, three? What was that? He was doing it so damn fast.

01:14:43 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, what are you doing?

01:14:45 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 6:

Courtney, what's going on? What did you want to say about this?

01:14:48 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

I was just calling in to let you guys know that I just started seeing a guy who's a lot like Kev, and I have to sneak and pay for things. Like if he gets up and walks away or.

01:15:00 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 5:

He'll be like, oh, I'll pay you when you get here, and I just don't mention it. I won't take any money, and he thinks it's cute, but he really tries to be like Kev, and he just doesn't want me to pay for anything.

01:15:08 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 1:

Do you like the fact that he wants to pay, or do you find it, in our other caller's voice, toxic?

01:15:16 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 5:

I kind of love it because, you know, there's a lot of toxic men that expect things from me in the past, so I'm just embracing it.

01:15:25 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 3:

But haven't you ever gone out with guys, and I'm not saying relationship, but like when we're, sometimes when we date, there is a presumption sometimes when a guy does always pay for stuff that he's then entitled to more. And I think that's where the toxicity came in. Yeah, I understand that. I don't think it's like every man who pays every time is toxic. That was a little bit extreme. But there are instances where it's, well, I've been doing this for you, so why won't you do this for me? That would be an immediate buy.

01:15:52 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:15:53 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 3:

But it happens regularly.

01:15:55 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 2:

And I will say this, that if that's the case, if you're doing it and expecting that you're going to get something out of the whole deal, that's toxic. But if you're a woman that's taking and you're taking and using, that's toxic, too. No, I agree. Absolutely. Misfit Ron. Hello, Ron.

01:16:12 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 6:

Hey, it's Ron. I was just calling to say that I think I think about this all the time about, like, the gender roles and, like, how the guy traditionally has to do this. but i feel like all of the time women always want to be equal with everything but i don't feel like it's that case i feel like women always want to pick and choose what they want to be equal like the guy always has to pay for everything oh it has to do all the hard chores but so far

01:16:43 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 3:

wait okay so far literally every woman calling in say says i don't want the man to pay for

01:16:50 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 6:

everything no i understand that but that's maybe the few people but i feel like as a broader picture of the world yeah i feel like with the traditional ways of like the guy pays on the first date or like the guy basically has to pay for everything and i just feel like in general that

01:17:08 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 1:

i don't women aren't equal got it hey real quick you guys are saying yeah yeah i don't even

01:17:13 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 3:

understand what's a woman who cleans gutters no yeah he doesn't think women are equal right no

01:17:19 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

Now, Misfit Ron, can I ask you this question? Are you married or single?

01:17:25 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 6:

I'm married, for sure.

01:17:29 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 2:

Mojo can't believe it.

01:17:30 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 6:

Really? He was too stunned to speak.

01:17:32 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 2:

Wowee. All right, well, thank you for the call, Ron. Appreciate it.

01:17:37 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 6:

Love you. Yeah, of course. Thank you.

01:17:39 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 2:

All right. Oh, you didn't get that. I love you back. I wanted Megan to know that was equal opportunity with my.

01:17:47 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it sure was.

01:17:49 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 5:

It is time now for the throwback throwdown.

01:17:58 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 2:

Mike is off this morning. Your choices, Shannon, Megan, or Kev, the new guy. First pick in the draft goes to Greg. Who do you think is going to win?

01:18:13 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go with Kev this morning. Oh, wow.

01:18:15 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 2:

01:18:15 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 5:

01:18:19 - 01:18:23 | Speaker 3:

Look at how serious, Kev, you're so serious. This is not normal.

01:18:23 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, remember last week he was very serious too, Shannon. He gets very intense on this. He's competitive. He is, he's got the game face going. And he's, you know, before he's smiling, hey, what's going on, guys? Happy weekend. Hey, what's going on? Look at him. No smile out of him. Hey, Kev. Greg, good choice. It's not that serious. No, this is serious. This is life or death.

01:18:45 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

Somebody is going to win. It might as well be me.

01:18:47 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Oh, Melissa, your choices. You got Shannon or Megan.

01:18:55 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 4:

01:19:15 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 4:

01:24:16 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 3:

01:30:37 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't think the ladies on the show are going to get this. But it's a good song to listen to right now. Josh! Know somebody.

01:30:54 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 1:

Can I have a point? Shannon.

01:30:56 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 4:

01:30:58 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 1:

Trick daddy, little John, and mace, let's go. Mace.

01:31:04 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 4:

I do like mace. Out of nowhere.

01:31:08 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 1:

Out of nowhere. At least you didn't say Littlest pet shop this time. It was not that.

01:31:16 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 2:

It was dem pet shop.

01:31:18 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask for a clue?

01:31:22 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:31:24 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 4:

You have no clue, do you?

01:31:28 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know what...

01:31:29 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 4:

Say what you gotta say. Say what you gotta say. Yeah, Megan. Yes, Megan.

01:31:34 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

01:31:35 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 4:

01:31:36 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 1:

01:31:40 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 4:

01:31:53 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 2:

Ozzy doesn't get credit on that?

01:31:56 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 4:

What's that?

01:31:57 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm a little bit shocked Ozzy doesn't get credit on that.

01:32:00 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 4:

I think he, you know, he might have done a couple with them. I don't know. He wasn't on the credits for this. So we still, you know what? We're kind of hanging on a little bit. I like this, though. This is good. We don't want to end this. We don't want the weekend to start yet. We want to be able to have some more fun with the throwback throwdown. KP, again, we got a scorer.

01:32:18 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Nobody yet. Just everybody's at two.

01:32:20 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 4:

So anybody can take this. Should I throw a gimme in here and just make this thing end right now? What do you guys think? Should I make it end right now?

01:32:25 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I think we should let him fight it out. Drag it out.

01:32:28 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 4:

Make him drag. Is that what you want to do?

01:32:30 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It's Pride Month. Drag it out, baby. I like that.

01:32:34 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 4:

What do you think? Greg, Melissa, Alexis? Just play it out. You got to play it out. Play it out. We're going to play it out. We're just going to let it go. Should I just go with the next song that's on my list here?

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:32:46 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 1:

Tanner's going to win with the next one. God, okay.

01:32:48 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry.

01:33:09 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

01:33:11 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Megan screamed her name out. So for those that missed it, because the delay does that sometimes. Real quick, I got to say this. Sorry. I got to say this. Delete, dump it Make sure you dump it But Megan You've got the floor right now Title and artist of that song That was just playing

Congratulations to you. He got his first win, by the way. His first win. This is dedicated to my mom, Josiah, Mike, and baby Sebastian. Mike, this was for Sebastian.

01:35:57 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, we got the first win in an FCC fine for Kevin. Nice job on that one there. That was great. Congratulations. Greg, you got the win. Enjoy that, buddy.

01:36:10 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 1:

It was well worth it. Thank you. Thank you. First time caller, long time listener. Let's go.

01:36:14 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Love you. Winner. We need more listeners. Tell your friends, okay?

01:36:21 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 1:

All right, Kev. Let's keep that trend going, Kev.

01:36:23 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

Let's get it, baby. Mojo in the morning. Mike is on the phone with us right now He was texting at the time that we played The weekend and Mike's Text me Daft Punk with an exclamation point

01:36:36 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh I was so mad I was so mad

01:36:39 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 2:

How are you buddy how you doing man Mike's home right now And we'll be back next week and you can go on our Instagram we've been posting some pictures of Beautiful Sebastian but Kev got his first win and throwback throwdown And he dedicated it to you and Sebastian

01:36:54 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awesome. Congratulations on the first win, man.

01:36:57 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, my man. Appreciate it. How are you doing? You were talking about how Allie was getting a little stir crazy last week. Are you getting stir crazy at home?

01:37:06 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I just went and took Cecily to school, and now just kind of drove around the block. And that's when I started listening to the throwback throwdown. I yelled at the radio when nobody got the Killers. When it paused for a minute and the Killers was playing, I was going to Killers.

01:37:22 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 2:

That would have been yours. That would have been yours on the first beat, that one-channel beat that comes in, or the first, like, ding, ding, it comes in.

01:37:29 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 5:

You know what happens sometimes? I'll hear an alt song, and I'll go, panic at the disco. And then I'm like, nope, nope. Yeah, and then your brain just goes blank.

01:37:37 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 2:

How is Sebastian sleeping?

01:37:40 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 4:

Better. A lot better. And things are, yeah, yeah. Things are getting a little bit smoother. I'm not going to say easy by any means, but things are getting smoother, which is nice.

01:37:50 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 2:

And for those that might have missed this, it's been a week. Sebastian Emanuel, born last week, so he is just over one week old. And does he still look like an old man, though? You know, because that's the thing. When kids are born, they kind of have that guy from up look to them, you know?

01:38:09 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Like, I don't know what the dog is that's got that really old man, smooshy-looking face, but that's kind of what he looks like.

01:38:14 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they have to unsmoosh.

01:38:17 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Actually, he's so gorgeous, man. I got to tell you, you guys make beautiful babies. Somebody was actually saying that they wanted to know if Mike ever did get the vasectomy because they're hoping that you didn't and that you guys shoot for number four.

01:38:31 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 4:

No, God, no. No, three is, we're done at three. Can I tell you, though? Vasectomy is scheduled.

01:38:38 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 2:

I have seen so many of our friends, though, that the unexpected happens while the baby's still, you know, little. Honestly, within weeks after having a baby, believe it or not

01:38:50 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 4:

Three months, two months It's scheduled out already And I don't think I'm even allowed to go near Until July 14th

01:38:57 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 2:

That's why he's circling the block right now That's why he's saying

01:39:00 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 5:

Stay away from me

01:39:02 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're back Monday morning So get the last minute of rest Actually, you got a new baby I don't know how much rest you're getting But get your last minute sleeping in past 4 o'clock in the morning, okay? Yeah, I'll try All right. Love you guys. Take care.

01:39:18 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 4:

Love you guys. See you. See you, Mike. Bye. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:39:24 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:39:27 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 5:

Well, I've got some breaking dirty. We're learning some new details about the last couple of days that the late Jeffrey Epstein spent in that Manhattan jail cell.

01:39:39 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

Before he was murdered by the...

01:39:41 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, sure. Yeah. He wrote a letter to another high-profile pedophile named Dr. Larry Nassar. We know him. Really? But here's the crazy part. So he wrote this letter. The letter was never received by the disgraced gymnastics team doctor.

01:40:00 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Was he already in jail?

01:40:01 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Nassar was already in jail.

01:40:02 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because remember when he... But, okay, so... I think he was. So listen to the story. So this bombshell development was included in 4,000 pages of documents obtained yesterday by the Associated Press, because obviously all of this is freedom of information. So Epstein's unopened letter to Nassar, who, we know the story, spent decades sexually abusing young girls, was discovered in the mailroom of the now shuttered lockup with a return to sender notice weeks after Epstein's death. And what it looks like happened was he mailed it out and it was returned back to him for whatever reason. And so the investigator who found the letter told a prison official by email, I'm not sure if I should open this, if I should hand it over to anybody because obviously Epstein was not alive anymore. The documents also included a psychological reconstruction of Epstein's death that shed light on his behavior during his just over a month stint behind bars, called himself a coward, wrote that he was struggling to adapt to life as a prisoner. According to medical records, he was suffering, excuse me, from sleep apnea, constipation, hypertension, lower back pain and prediabetes. He had also been treated for chlamydia, signed up for a kosher meal plan, requested through his lawyer permission to exercise outside. This is all new stuff we're finding out from these new documents. Just two days before his death, he purchased $73.85 worth of items from the prison commissary, including an AMFN radio and headphones. But it's that. It's the letter that he wrote to Dr. Nassar that everybody's going, whoa.

01:41:37 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 3:

That happens a lot, by the way, where you see guys that are, you know, creepy, you know, convicts, murderers and things like this, sex guys like this guy, that they'll try to talk to each other, you know, and they'll send each other letters or they'll try to communicate with each other. Yep. And I wondered what the reasoning was why they sent the Nassar letter back, because I thought that those guys were still were allowed to have communication with the outside world through, you know, the U.S. Postal Service.

01:42:06 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 2:

Or did they just not want that connection during their trials? Right, I feel like there's, yeah, I feel like there's more to this story. We'll see. Real quick, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat 104-93 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night. Game 2 in Denver on Sunday evening. Dwayne The Rock Johnson is returning to the Fast and Furious universe with a new standalone film. He is going to be reprising his franchise role as Luke Hobbs.

01:42:31 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

So I am 100% confirming to you guys around the world that, yes, it is true. Hobbs is back in the Fast and Furious franchise. Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, you know, we've been like brothers for years. And despite having our differences, cannot wait.

01:42:50 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 2:

So the movie that he's going to be starring in, sources tell me it's going to bridge the events of the just-released Fast X and the upcoming Fast X Part 2, which is expected to drop in 2025. A judge has approved a wrongful death lawsuit related to cinematographer Helena Hutchins shooting death on the set of the movie Rust. When that gun that Alec Baldwin was holding fired, it's already been almost two years since this happened, but the order was entered yesterday. Gives zero details about the settlement, so I can't give you a number or anything like that. The lawsuit filed in February of last year on behalf of Helena's husband, Matthew, and their son against Alec Baldwin and a handful of others who were responsible for safety on the set. It is alleged that reckless behavior and cost-cutting led to Helena's death. And you guys, I'm going to leave you with something that I was very excited about this week. I know you will be just as excited as I am. A brand new version of one of my favorite songs of all time. It is called Mbop 2.0. Oh, really? Happy Friday.

01:43:55 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 3:

Who's it by?

01:43:57 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 2:

It's Busted and Handsome.

01:44:06 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 3:

Should I know who Busted is?

01:44:17 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 4:

You can just skip to the chorus if you want, because I know you don't want to hear the

01:44:29 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 2:

whole thing.

01:44:32 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to think of who Busted is. They're doing this.

01:44:35 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 2:

They're teaming up with like Simple Plan, like a whole bunch of bands from like the 2000s and remaking some of them. This song's over 25 years old, by the way.

01:44:43 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 3:

Are they guitar players or something like that? Is that what it is? Because they're hearing more guitar. I thought it was going to be like some rap or something in there.

01:44:53 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

01:44:55 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Do you like it? You're the handsome fan. I love it. All right. Go celebrity jerk.

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 2:

I love that you wanted to stop playing that so fast. You didn't even let me close out the dirty. Oh, I thought you already closed out.

01:45:11 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 1:

I thought you said, okay, go ahead. What did you say?

01:45:13 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, it's okay. That's your dirty. Check out the dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

01:45:17 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 1:

Mojo on the Morning Show. So listen to Megan here. Megan got criticized for her tattoo.

01:45:25 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, tattoos that I am looking to get. So I went out to dinner, and our server had a very, very cool tattoo. Now, to be clear, I think a lot of my tattoos that I want to get are very different in style. So, like, my sleeve that I have already started working on, I want it to look like the illustrations that were in the books that I read as kids. So all the stuff that I'm getting is by a girl here in Toledo who does stuff like that. And she is phenomenal, and I love her. But there are other kinds of tattoos that I want as well. So, I'm always kind of looking for artists that would fit those styles. So, one of the tattoos I really want to get, I don't know if I want to, I'll tell you. I really want to get a statue blowing a bubble, like a gum bubble. Okay. What kind of statue? Just like a bust of somebody. Oh, okay. And getting that, like, blowing a bubble.

01:46:17 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Uh-huh. Does that relate to a book or that's just one, like, a design you want? Just a design that I want. Okay.

01:46:23 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 3:

And I saw this server. our server had a really really cool like portrait almost looked like david kind of statuesque tattoo and i said oh my god please tell me who did that tattoo that's exactly what i am like looking for and it spurred everybody at the table to be like well what other tattoos do you want and i love talking about tattoos and ideas and creativity so i said well good news i've got pinterest boards and files set up on my phone just stocked full of different um inspirational tattoos that i want to get like this is my jam like i i let's talk about it and every single one that i brought up somebody had a critique about and to me tattoos are like baby names we only say we really don't like them when they're gonna harm somebody right like if you try to name your kid diesel i'm gonna say diesel is a weasel like it's the first thing that comes to my head i feel for that kid right but if you want to name your kid uh i don't know jonathan whatever bland name and i don't like it i'm not going to tell you that like there are just things that we don't cross why would you cross this with tattoos right so that's a good point so people are very opinionated when it

01:47:35 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 1:

comes to like you said baby names but also tattoos they they will tell you what they think of your

01:47:39 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 3:

tattoo yes all of the time and you know who's the worst at it other tattoo artists so i have friends that are tattoo artists and they'll be like let me see it and then they'll just get quiet and like

01:47:50 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 1:

don't get quiet well quiet is not really giving their opinion or oh yes it is there's a lot major

01:47:57 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 2:

distaste yeah there's a lot in silence yeah really they can't even think of anything to say so they're

01:48:01 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 1:

just shutting up so even if they're just you know giving you the uh the i'm not gonna say anything

01:48:07 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 3:

type thing that actually passes a judgment that's a big no silence is hatred lie to me lie it's okay

01:48:15 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 1:

lie i'll be honest with you i wanted to give you my opinion on what you were talking about about the blowing up the bubble thing i wanted to do that but i wanted to do it in a way of i think you should make it look like sexy and not like little kitty like i don't think like it should look it should have a little bit of like a cool sex appeal to it and not looking like a little kid blowing a bubble. Megan, do you know what I'm talking about

01:48:37 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 2:

when I say the singing busts at the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World? Yeah. That's exactly what I picture in my head. Here, let me show you.

01:48:43 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever worry when you're getting a tattoo? Because I'm not a tattoo person, but do you ever worry what the tattoo is going to look like on you when you're like a 70-year-old woman?

01:48:53 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 3:

No, because guess what? Everybody's like, you don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley. All right, let me give you a little fun fact about what I am. I'm not a Bentley. I am a Honda Civic who who's on his legs, like, he's got 170,000 miles on it. You know what? Sometimes it's nice to have a bumper sticker. Sometimes you need new rims. Sometimes you need a sound system. It's nice.

01:49:18 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 1:

I do, by the way, love that. That's a great analogy of you do not put a bumper sticker on a really, really nice car, so why are you doing this on this beautiful canvas of a woman here? At least you're the sport edition. That's right. She's the EV or whatever it is.

01:49:35 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 3:

With the spoiler, with the spoiler.

01:49:38 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 1:

You're the ones that they drive in the Fast and the Furious.

01:49:41 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:49:43 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she sent it to us? Yeah. Let me look. Let's see. Yeah, okay. What's the next topic we're talking about here? You're not a fan? You know, I love Megan, and I think, Megan, you go, girl. That's so disrespectful.

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 5:

That's just the hurtful I was talking about. That's hurtful.

01:50:05 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I think it's beautiful. No, you don't. I think you should also put the frame around it, too. You should have the frame in the picture.

01:50:12 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 5:

You're actually so annoying. This is what I'm talking about. What do you think, Shannon?

01:50:15 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 1:

What do you think about it?

01:50:16 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 5:

See, I actually really like it.

01:50:18 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 2:

Really? Okay. Yeah. Where are you getting it? Where are you getting it at?

01:50:22 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

I wanted to get it on the back of my arm.

01:50:24 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay. But the other arm, right? Not the one that you're doing all the- Correct.

01:50:28 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 5:

Because it's not the same style.

01:50:29 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 2:

How big are you going to get it?

01:50:31 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 5:

Probably like five or six inches tall.

01:50:34 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm with it. Liz, what do you want to say about what Megan's talking about here, about how to keep your mouth shut when somebody talks about their tattoos?

01:50:42 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

All I say to people when they have something negative to say to me is, good thing it's my body, not theirs.

01:50:48 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

01:50:49 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:50:50 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one. It is Megan's body. She wants to put this thing on her. Yeah.

01:50:54 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 5:

I know you're trying to be funny, but you're actually making me very angry.

01:50:59 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 1:

I'll be honest with you. I think that maybe a T-shirt might be a good idea. What do you think of that?

01:51:06 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 5:

Were you getting a tattoo of a T-shirt? Wearing a T-shirt?

01:51:09 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Get that. Get that image on a T-shirt? One of those machines that people get that print on T-shirts.

01:51:15 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 3:

You're thinking of a cricket, but that's more like words.

01:51:18 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? You can't do pictures on that? I don't know. I've only ever done other words. Because I was going to say, I'm going to buy Megan a cricket, and she can go get herself this on a T-shirt. I'm joking with you, Megan. I'm just trying to push your buttons. I like it. It's beautiful. I actually do like it.

01:51:29 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 5:

Is it going to be pink like that, too? It's 9 a.m. Oh, God, no, I hate pink. Black and gray tattoos all the way. I love that on 9 a.m. on a Friday, you were like, you know what I'm going to do? Ruin Megan's day.

01:51:42 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to grind your gears. What's up, Amanda?

01:51:48 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:51:49 - 01:51:49 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:51:50 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 7:

So I once went to get a tattoo, and afterwards, me and my friend got dinner. And while we were at dinner, Fresh Tattoo, the waitress, was like, oh, that's really great. I do tattoos, too. And then she asked me, how much did you pay for it? And I told her. And she was like, I could have done it cheaper in my kitchen. And I'm like, thanks. Wow.

01:52:09 - 01:52:10 | Unknown:

I don't want a kitchen tattoo. Yeah.

01:52:12 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 1:

Did you tell her also that you're not giving her 20% as a tip?

01:52:17 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 7:

No. I still tipped her because I just, like, feel guilty. But she was kind of like, I don't know. I don't think it was worth that much. So I'm like, I do.

01:52:26 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Andrea, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:52:29 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So I have a back piece that people warned me about getting before I got it. But I had to get it. And it is so bad. It looks so horrible that I have started telling people that my toddler drew it. So they don't judge me. Oh, what is it of? So it's supposed to look like my skin's being ripped open. And there's like blue skies underneath and birds. It's supposed to look like realistic. It doesn't at all It looks so bad And it's way too big to cover up So I just say that my daughter drew it Some people think that it's cute

01:53:01 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 1:

And they go from cringing to Aw, that's so nice

01:53:06 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the guilt just sets in right away

01:53:08 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 1:

That's funny By the way, speaking of toddlers I saw a listener of ours With an unbelievable tattoo Shannon, you can steal this if you want to do it She had her children When they were little write love you mommy and then sign their name and then her kids now are teenagers had them do it again. So I talked about this.

01:53:31 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 3:

I talked about that is a tattoo that I want. I don't want to have them do it again but I want, I need Smith to be maybe like another year older because right now his handwriting is like this big. But I really want them both to just sign their name. And have that tattooed. Can you do it on the bottom of your feet

01:53:46 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 5:

like Woody in Toy Story? Oh!

01:53:51 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 1:

Megan.

01:53:52 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 5:

I like that. Well, the weird connection to you and Toy Story might not work. Yeah, it does not.

01:53:56 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:53:56 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 5:

God.

01:53:57 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 1:

Megan, don't pass judgment on this one. I know you say no judgments on tattoos, but Erin, what did you get tattooed on you?

01:54:04 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 5:

A Big Mac. That is actually absolutely amazing. Really? Yes.

01:54:10 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Like the Big Mac? I love it. The actual sandwich or the actual box with the sandwich?

01:54:16 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 8:

No, it's just a sandwich. So it kind of looks like a burger, but if you ask, it's a Big Mac.

01:54:20 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 1:

But it's a Big Mac. There you go. It's got the special sauce with it, right?

01:54:24 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I love it.

01:54:25 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 1:

And where on your body is it? Or can we say?

01:54:28 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 8:

It's on my legs. But I have like a whole sleeve of traditional stuff, so you can't even tell if you walk by me.

01:54:34 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 1:

Is it a talking piece for guys? Do they love it?

01:54:38 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 8:

No. It's mostly dirty looks.

01:54:39 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 1:

Do they?

01:54:41 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 2:

Guys would be into a Big Mac. Can I solicit right now? Yeah. If you're a listener out there, and especially the one with the Big Mac, if you're on Instagram, Please take a picture and tag

01:54:51 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 3:

Send us the tattoo

01:54:57 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

That got you the weird looks

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry we have rules again

01:55:00 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 2:

the cell phones in the studio, please? Can you turn it off? He's just doking. I'm just kidding. By the way, no, listen to this. We have backstage passers in the studio, and I know these guys because they were at the event that we did for Sheriff Pal, the, you know, Little League in Pontiac that Sheriff Bouchard funds, and we did that event at the, what the hell, Topgolf, and these guys won, and when they won, I thought to myself, I know the only reason why they want to win this thing. They have zero plans of coming in here because they're just fans of the Mojo in the Morning. They want plugs for their business. They're Caldean businessmen. First off, as soon as they walked in, they smelled like cologne mixed with maybe a little bit of weed. Do you guys have like a weed shot? Here, walk up to the microphone. Come on up here. I'm going to let you plug and then say hello to everybody. So our backstage passes, we give them for charities to come in studio with us. It's basically hang out with us on a Friday morning, get to see what we're doing in studio. We do charitable events all around town. But if you have a charity, you can send us a note and we'll get you in on this. We're back doing it. Guys, tell me your names again and tell me the business that you own. Tell me the dispensary that you own or the party store.

01:56:13 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Mojo? Good to be here, Bubba. Where are you from? Listen, first of all, we own Ticket Fix Pro, okay?

01:56:20 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 2:

What's Ticket Fix Pro?

01:56:21 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 1:

Ticket Fix Pro is our criminal defense law firm. and we handle all traffic tickets, felonies, misdemeanors, any criminal cases. Okay. Secondly, I'm also the chief legal counsel of Puff Cannabis Company, so that might be your... Okay. Mojo's on to something. Wait, where are they located at? Where are they in town? Puff Cannabis. We got nine locations all around Michigan right now. Ten. Monroe coming soon. Oh, my God. Calum is doing that. There we go.

01:56:47 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 2:

And being that I love my Chaldean buddies, you probably have like 12 other businesses that you're into, right, too? You know, shopping centers, gas stations. There we go. I love that you're just spot on. We do it all. That's our motto.

01:57:01 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 1:

Give me the names. What are you guys' names? I'm Nick Hanawa. This is my partner, Greg Sheena. I love it. Greg, I know a ton of Sheenas. I know a ton of Sheenas, too. Wait a second.

01:57:10 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 2:

Say your name again, Nick. Nick Hanawa. Nick Hanawa. Hanawa. When you did it, you kind of had a little bit of that. Sometimes I'll hear when people say it, They're like, okay, they got a little of that. Well, Mojo, you should ask him how he says it when he's talking to somebody else, like a white person. A white person. Like a white person. I thought that you were like, say it to a white person. Let me hear it.

01:57:34 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 1:

What do you say? So, like, you know, in school, they used to be like, Nick Hanawa. So I always say, yeah, this is Nick Hanawa.

01:57:43 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 2:

I love it. It's the Hanawa guy. I love it. You guys are great. Well, thank you guys for coming in. Hang out. You can sit back here, but you cannot be on your phone the entire time, you know, texting away with your friends. You can take pictures. You can do whatever you want. You want to, you know, FaceTime, that's out of the question, any of that stuff. We love it. I should have actually had rules when I saw that you won this in the auction for Sheriff Bouchard. I thought to myself, I'm like, these guys are going to be fun. Make sure that we have them in on a good Friday where it's like, let's get some craziness going here. Let's do it. And I saw that you guys didn't bring us anything from Puff Cannabis. Oh, I got you. I didn't know if I could bring it on the premises or not

01:58:20 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm so happy you guys are here We do Fox 2 a lot I always bring them gifts

01:58:27 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second, the news anchors on Fox 2? Really? I never would have thought

01:58:31 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 1:

The backdoor guys

01:58:32 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Alright, it is the Mojo in the Morning show Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE Text is 95500 I got a couple of topics from going out with some buddies that one of the topics that I wanted to bring up is something that it might lend itself to not having your kids around when we're talking about this, especially if you're somebody that is going to be willing to participate with us. So I went out with a buddy and we were having a conversation about our pasts and people that we might have had relationships with or the topic came up about losing our virginity and how old were you when you lost your virginity. And he was telling me that he has lied to his wife about how old he was when he lost his virginity. And I was thinking to myself, I'm like, oh, well, why would you have to lie to your wife about that? It was so long ago. Yeah. Right? Why would it be something? Unless he was super, super young. Well, here's the thing. You know, we do six on sex all the time. That's one of the questions we'll ask. And usually we ask that. So it kind of gives the mom a perspective or dad a perspective with their son or daughter on how sexually active that they were. Well, his lie to his wife is different. He lost his virginity when he was almost 25. He didn't lose his virginity until...

02:00:00 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 3:

He was literally in almost his mid-20s. He told his wife that he lost his virginity when he was 17 years old because he thought that it didn't look cool enough to lose his virginity when he was, you know, 25 years old or 24 years old and almost 25.

02:00:16 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 5:

I get it.

02:00:17 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:00:18 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because I'm embarrassed about the age that I lost my virginity at.

02:00:21 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 4:

How old were you?

02:00:22 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 5:

21.

02:00:23 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 4:

Why are you embarrassed? But see, I respect, like I would respect that guy even more if he said 25. Yeah.

02:00:27 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 3:

And Megan, I respect you that it's 21.

02:00:31 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 5:

You're definitely in the minority on that one. People see it as a red flag. And it's so weird to me. It's just like if you've been single for a long time, it's a red flag. If you lost your virginity too late, it's a red flag. People go, why? What was wrong with you? Why didn't you?

02:00:44 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 2:

Why are you embarrassed, though?

02:00:47 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 5:

Because people see it as a red flag.

02:00:49 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 3:

That they think that you couldn't have sex or that you were waiting to have sex.

02:00:54 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 5:

I think it's both, depending on the person. And for me, I was raised in a way where sex was very, very shameful, so I was very uncomfortable with it for a very long time. So I think that played a major role in it. I mean, I think some people think I didn't have the opportunity, which is not the case. But yeah, it's really weird. There's so many factors that go into it. And there are people who see it for different reasons.

02:01:25 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 1:

First off, girls always have the opportunity. Let's start there. Megan's even said that, so that's true. You owe the keys.

02:01:32 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 5:

You guys, I love you men, but your bar is low sometimes.

02:01:37 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 3:

Let me throw this out, though, for a topic idea. What sexual experience have you lied or not told your spouse or significant other about? I want to know that, because honestly, the age you lost your virginity is one thing. I bet you that there's other people that have lied to their significant other about that. The number is another one I think that people will lie.

02:02:01 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 4:

Wes will not tell me. Will not. And said he will take it to his grave. He will not tell me.

02:02:06 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

Your fiance will not say to you? He will not tell me. No. Why do you believe that that's the case?

02:02:11 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Because I think it's real high. Really? Yes.

02:02:13 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 5:

But at this point, it's not like you're not going to be with him.

02:02:16 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's what I said. I'm like, I'm just really curious. So every time I ask him, he's like, 252, 347, 191.

02:02:25 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

What would you do, though, if it was like triple digits? Would that make you go, oh, you know, because that's.

02:02:33 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's too late now.

02:02:35 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. But is it too late now?

02:02:36 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, it's not. But I know the type of person he is now.

02:02:40 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What if it was really low? What if you were like his.

02:02:43 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 4:

I would love that.

02:02:44 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 3:

What if he lost his virginity to his ex-wife and you're his second?

02:02:47 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 4:

I absolutely know that's not true. you know honestly i think that look at my buddy but i'm not joking and you might you know think i'm lying i would i would respect that so much about somebody and that's not me by the way i would respect that so much that somebody really put you know so much value and worth and thought into who they were sharing their body with i i really would all right so here's here's the

02:03:16 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 3:

question again the question again is what sexual experience or something sexual have you not told the truth to or will lie to you know or or not tell to your significant other a couple of things that i want to pose out there for possibilities on this one um threesomes uh sex with the same sex maybe if you're in a you know a relationship with somebody like a girl sometimes don't want to tell their guys that they've although it's funny i think most guys get excited when they find that out one night stands one night stands uh also the other the other one is uh some of the kink the kink that you got involved in you know like the people that uh got into some crazy stuff

02:04:01 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 2:

see my situation you know i'll be transparent i'll be honest i had a situation where um prior to a relationship i had a sexual encounter we'll say with a young lady and we were we were friends For like two years And then you know Something happened Then entered a relationship And I didn't want to like Give up that friendship Because that was like An ultimatum That my girl gave me Like you can't be with You can't be friends with her Because y'all did something And now we're in a relationship Oh I don't feel comfortable

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 3:

So you never said That you guys had sex

02:04:31 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 2:

We didn't even have sex

02:04:32 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh

02:04:33 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 4:

It was just You were just It was She You know Everything but She um

02:04:36 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 3:

I thought you were saying That you lied about it That's all you had to say Oh she Oh okay

02:04:40 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 4:

How many weeks does it take

02:04:41 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 3:

By the way Let me just say this to you You didn't even have to say that Let me just say this to you. That is still, by the way, just so you know that. I like the, boy, you've got the Bill Clinton attitude on things there, don't you?

02:04:52 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 2:

What?

02:04:52 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 3:

That's still a sexual encounter.

02:04:55 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

It is. It is.

02:04:56 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What's up, Tim? How are you doing?

02:04:58 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Good. How are you?

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Good.

02:05:00 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 6:

tim we're talking about the lies that you are keeping from your significant other that deal

02:05:05 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 5:

with your sex life so when i first met my girlfriend uh we were in high school and i had told her i had only been with one girl and uh she later went through my phone and found out how many i had been with and uh it was kind of a red flag to her but then she kind of eventually got over it so i mean it's i think it's cool to be honest with them because you might not like it In the long run, I was in the doghouse for, like, a month.

02:05:31 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 6:

Really? So what's the number?

02:05:36 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 5:

17.

02:05:37 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 6:

Okay. What was she expecting?

02:05:40 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. You know, we're young in high school, and, you know, I think she was expecting, like, five or two or something like that.

02:05:46 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 6:

Dude, we had a six on sex the other day, not this week, but a couple weeks ago. The kid was 21 years old, and he had sex with 48 people at 21 years old.

02:05:56 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's something else. Yeah. High five. Hey, I mean, that's Tinder for you. Tinder will get you. Right. That's Tinder for you.

02:06:05 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Paul, what's going on?

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's going on?

02:06:08 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 6:

Nothing much.

02:06:10 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah, my lie that I tell people is the number of people that I slept with. I slept with over, truthfully, over 500 women. Wait, stop. I thought I was wrong. Wait, stop.

02:06:22 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. Shannon's taken on this.

02:06:25 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 2:

500? How do you even know that that's your number?

02:06:28 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 4:

so i started keeping track like in my mid-20s and then once i reached a little bit past 30 i just kind of started looking through my phone and sure enough i reached past 500 i don't count anymore now oh my god do do you get tested like i just yeah no absolutely no i keep it safe i'm just an attractive gemini so and like where are you meeting all these girls that you're having sex with all the time i travel all over the place okay so i mean your bottle service um you know you go to like tinder like you guys are just talking about yeah um you know just going out so if you

02:07:07 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 6:

go out often enough you meet plenty of people i'll be honest with you i think the people that you're having sex with to me would freak me out in a relationship than the number like if the number was 500 and it was people that you were kind of like new and stuff but the idea that you're having sex with a girl that you got bottle service or met when you had bottle service or you're just

02:07:31 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 4:

hanging out with that would freak me out probably more yeah i mean it's not like i'm taking strippers back you know it's it's uh you go out you know on a night in the town whatever and find attractive women these people are nurses doctors lawyers yeah so it's kind of you know it's not like i'm going

02:07:50 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 1:

to like a sex club or something well there's nothing wrong with either of those things though either it's perfectly fine to have relationships with dancers and stuff like that too just oh no

02:08:01 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 6:

yes no absolutely just as long as you stay within your budget yeah don't go into debt for it for sure jeremy what's going on what's going on guys how you doing we're talking about keeping the sex

02:08:15 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 3:

lie from your significant yeah so my first wife and i were part of a swingers group and i have

02:08:23 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 2:

02:09:50 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 3:

So I had to lie to guys while I was dating and said that I've had sexual experience, but really I was a virgin.

02:09:58 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Were you saving your... until you got married I don't I wouldn't call yourself a loser that's pretty

02:10:29 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Long time listener, first time caller. Yay. Hi, Becky.

02:10:34 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 1:

Would you ever have thought that you would have called for the first time on a topic like this?

02:10:39 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 4:

No. Actually, the first time I tried to call you was after you had your open heart surgery because you and my mother had the same staff.

02:10:48 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

02:10:49 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yep, same everything.

02:10:50 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Over at Michigan, University of Michigan. Yeah, that's awesome.

02:10:53 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 4:

Yep. Yep. So it was great to hear that you had the same outcome you did.

02:10:57 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 1:

Now tell us the kinky thing that you're keeping from your spouse.

02:11:01 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 4:

The day we got married, he made me promise there would be no more women in my life, which is really weird for a man to say no more women. Like friends? No, you know what you mean. No. Like sexually. Yeah, like women. Yeah. And? I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one he's ever been with. And, yeah, he has no clue how many, where, how much, how many, nothing, nothing, because he's very straight-laced, and I don't think he would have handled it very well.

02:11:35 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 1:

Have you been with a woman since he made you promise no more women?

02:11:40 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 4:

No, but I've offered. I've given him the opportunity. I'm like, we've been married for over 10 years. Like, let's, you know, try something new.

02:11:48 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

02:11:49 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 4:

Like, no. Yeah.

02:11:50 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I think it's amazing that there are guys out there that are like, no, I don't want to do that.

02:11:56 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:11:57 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 1:

Which I give them, hey, I give you guys all the credit, man. Some people like vanilla ice cream.

02:12:02 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's very, very vanilla. Like, he doesn't get any more vanilla.

02:12:06 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I tried a banana caramel ice cream yesterday.

02:12:10 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 3:

That sounds delicious.

02:12:11 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 1:

It was so good. And legitimately, it was ice cream. I just want everybody to know that I'm not, like, actually making a reference to any sexual, but it was delicious. I need to voice disguise you, I think, too. Lisa, are you there?

02:12:23 - 02:12:24 | Unknown:

Yes, hi.

02:12:24 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Lisa's going to be the last caller on this one because this is something you better not tell. Because if you tell this, your marriage is over with or your boyfriend is leaving you.

02:12:33 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, we actually broke up again last year after being together eight years and having two kids.

02:12:39 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 1:

Stop for a second because the voices guys are sometimes hard to hear. You're in a relationship with a guy, right? You're dating?

02:12:46 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 2:

We just broke up again last year. So we used to be together in our 20s, and we broke up. And then when we broke up, his best friend and brother told me he had feelings for me. And I was like, no, you know, I'm not doing that right now. Passed forward five years later, and I came back to Michigan and saw my ex, and his best friend was there. And he was with somebody else at the time Even though he wanted to do that to me And I was like no Anyway his brother and I ended up hooking up During that visit And we got back together And just broke up last year again After having two kids But he still doesn't know that I was sleeping with his best friend Oh

02:13:28 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Wait with his best friend or his brother You kind of lost me You slept with his brother

02:13:34 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 2:

It's his best friend but he considers him his brother Okay

02:13:38 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah wow

02:13:39 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so, yeah, he still doesn't know. So, you know, like I said, we broke up again last year after being together eight years and having two kids.

02:13:50 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, welcome back to Michigan. It's always nice to have people come back to town.

02:13:56 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:13:57 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 1:

All right. Take care of yourself.

02:13:59 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Yep, you too.

02:13:59 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

It's hard for me sometimes with the voice disguiser machine to follow it. By the way, nobody has ever sounded sexy on a voice disguiser machine, even if they've had sex with their best friend's brother or something like that. All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:14:15 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, the Vegas Golden Knights have advanced to the NHL Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in franchise history. And there's a business in Vegas that is really doing its part to offer the team a little extra motivation to hopefully bring home that trophy. Larry Flint's Hustler Club is offering the Golden Knights platinum VIP access and free lap dances for life if they win the Stanley Cup. What? I'll have to pour some sugar on me in the background.

02:14:48 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is the stripper. This is a stripper song, isn't it? Shannon wanted me to play Pony, but that's only for guys strippers, right? That's true. Oh, okay.

02:15:00 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 2:

But yeah, they're saying the offer is contingent on a Stanley Cup victory against the Florida Panthers.

02:15:06 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 5:

So if the Panthers win the Stanley Cup and the Panthers, or I'm sorry, the Knights, the Golden Knights, if they win the Stanley Cup, then the guys on the team, the entire roster gets free dances for a lifetime?

02:15:20 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 2:

Correct, and free VIP platinum access. Wait, isn't it like Vegas, Atlanta?

02:15:26 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 4:

Is that like back room stuff? It's golden nights Eight golden showers

02:15:30 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait what was What did you say Megan Is that the golden nights one

02:15:33 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 3:

I was gonna say Isn't it Like Vegas And Atlanta And Miami Who have the best strippers too So isn't this like A pretty good deal

02:15:39 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 5:

It's probably yeah

02:15:41 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 3:

It'd be one thing If they were like In Boise Idaho Saying like Free for the rest of your life Like oh No more incentives Alright Oh I'm sorry To everybody in Boise

02:15:51 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 5:

Actually did you know this

02:15:53 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh god Why are we What

02:15:56 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm not speaking from experience, but did you know that Detroit's strippers are considered to be some of the best?

02:16:01 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 2:

A lot of them get flown out to Vegas. Remember we talked to that girl when we went to iHeart one year, the iHeart Radio Music Festival, and she's from Detroit.

02:16:10 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 5:

And back in the day when the Wings actually were winning Stanley Cups, I remember talking to former players who said that visiting team players used to love coming to Detroit, so they'd go to the Penthouse Club and some of those places to go and enjoy dances.

02:16:24 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to you ladies. Amid rumors that he has been left blind and paralyzed after suffering a stroke, Nick Cannon said he believes his buddy, Jamie Foxx, will update fans on this mysterious health scare that sent him to the hospital back in April when he's ready. So he's saying, all in good time, I'm his friend, I'm not prying or asking questions of the family because obviously they are very tight-lipped and have been about what's been going on. But he told Extra's Billy Bush, Jamie's extremely private, and when he's ready, He will address his fans about this medical condition in a way that only he can. President Joe Biden tripped and fell again. This was a bad one. It happened during the Air Force graduation ceremony yesterday. He was the featured speaker. He was also handing out diplomas. And at the end of the ceremony, after he saluted and was shaking hands with the grads, you are going to hell. He tripped over a sandbag on the stage and fell really, really hard. Landed on his side, I mean, got up and kept going, but man.

02:17:27 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 1:

I got sandbags.

02:17:29 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

It was a sandbag. He said he got back up, carried on with a ceremony. The White House issuing a statement saying Biden was not injured. Former President Donald Trump talking about this.

02:17:37 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, I hope he wasn't hurt. I hope he wasn't hurt. That's too bad. If he fell, it's too bad. That's a bad place to fall when you're making, I think it was the Air Force Academy, right? That's not inspiring.

02:17:49 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Taylor Swift has landed at the number two spot on the Forbes richest women in music list. That number is going to grow even more when the Eras tour ends. By the way, her Eras tour expected to gross $1.6 billion, which will pop up her net worth. Right now, she's worth $740 million, according to the richest self-made women list. If you're wondering who beat her, it was Rihanna, who has a $1.4 billion net worth. thanks to her music career and Fenty. Taylor now surpasses Madonna and Beyonce.

02:18:25 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 5:

I'd love to know the list of men and women and see, because there's always the disparity in how much men get paid and how much women get paid. But I have to tell you that the women in entertainment these days keep growing, and I feel like the guys kind of have gotten stagnant. Don't you have this feeling? Like there is no bigger show than Taylor Swift I've ever seen in my career Like people have asked me Questions about you know what is the show That you get asked the most for free tickets Or people want to know It's by far Taylor Swift And it's also by far the only one I cannot get my hands on For listeners or For even clients and stuff

02:19:07 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask though Do you think And I'm not saying that people don't want it Because I'm not downplaying her success Truly it is remarkable to watch But do you think it's getting overhyped because of the whole Ticketmaster ticket fiasco and it's top of mind for people? I don't think so. Because I think Beyonce right now has a very comparable tour and I think Harry Styles was pretty comparable too, but we talked about the tickets the way we do because of the whole fiasco.

02:19:34 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 5:

Look at the aftermarket. Look at the Stubhubs, the seat geeks. But it's the same way with all of them. No. Harry Styles, I bought tickets, Harry Styles tickets for a client out of my personal pocket and I paid 500 bucks a piece on StubHub like the day of the show.

02:19:47 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

For his second to last tour.

02:19:48 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 5:

For one of the Chicago shows. Okay, so it's $1,000. We paid for clients for their kid.

02:19:54 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 3:

Right.

02:19:55 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 5:

The Taylor Swift concert, you cannot touch for less than a couple...

02:20:00 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 6:

couple thousand dollars right now but that's the same for Beyonce Beyonce I can you know what I can call the record label and probably even get some of those like I think Taylor Swift is by far I think there's no if you talk to Tony Travato our boss you know he's like one of the big people in this company you know he's one of the he's like gonna he will be probably the president of I Heart Radio before we all go in the future I'm putting that out there in the universe because I hope so Tony Travato was on StubHub trying to buy tickets the other day for his family

02:20:28 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 3:

You can't get tickets for this thing

02:20:31 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 6:

It's crazy And the venue Megan Is a venue that you can fit 60 some thousand people in I think this is the biggest show ever Listen I'm not a huge Taylor Swift fan And I know you're not either And I hate to see this I want Stevie B to be the biggest artist ever

02:20:48 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

I still love Spring Love I think people are just putting it Somewhat out of proportion Because it's been talked about a lot when it's not exclusively her issue. That's all I'm saying. Yeah.

02:21:01 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 6:

Listen, no matter what it is, I mean, I feel bad. I know that there's a lot of parents that promise their kids this, and unless you really want to bust the bank, I think you've got to tell your kids no. Like, this is not the one. You're not going it. Yeah.

02:21:13 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And real quick, a little heads up. Today is National Donut Day. Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' celebrating by giving away free donuts. Krispy Kreme customers, you can pick up a single free donut. No purchase necessary. Dunkin' customers got to purchase a beverage to get a free donut today. Shout out to our local fave, the Donut Cutter. They dropped off donuts to the radio station. Did they really? Thank you, Lon.

Oh, yes, there you go You can see that, you can watch that The other thing you can watch, too and talk about going from high energy to no energy, you can go check out pictures from yesterday's LaFontaine Automotive Group internship crew and see the kid in the front row falling asleep. So there's one kid, a kid in the front row, who's literally snoozing while I was talking. So that's on there too. And it was funny that people recognized that and saw it in a way.

02:24:04 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, that would be you if you were sitting through one of those things.

02:24:08 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 6:

By the way, that was me in every class that I was in. I would be sitting there, you know, it was, you know what it was? It's hot.

02:24:19 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 3:

It's so hot.

02:24:21 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's amazing. If the room was hot, I fell asleep, you know, all the time. But you can go check that out on Instagram, Facebook, you know, Twitter, TikTok, you know, whatever. I said them all. I don't know. I'm going to go through them all. Alright Mojo on the morning show There is something that Shannon's fiance says that he will not do When they get married Ooh

02:24:47 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 3:

Where's the

02:24:50 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 5:

What is it

02:24:52 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 3:

That's the one that you Was like Oprah

02:24:56 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah yeah what there you go that's a great one he does not want to wear a wedding ring and that is a huge no-no for me and so we you know we've been talking about like okay when are we gonna get married when are we like what are we gonna do how are we gonna do this because we have so many different ideas kind of swirling around um no date or anything yet but we do have some ideas for how we want to do it and so we got to talking i was actually out um i was hanging out with Fran Lucido yesterday at Lucido Fine Jewelry because I was helping a friend of mine design her wedding band. And so we got to talking about this. Wes and I met up later in the day for dinner and he was like, I don't think I want to wear a wedding ring. And I was like, it was that drop in my head. What? Like over and over again. Excuse me? Yeah. That one right there, literally in my had played but he just he was like yeah i don't think i want to wear a wedding ring did he wear

02:25:56 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 2:

a wedding ring with his ex-wife he did yep he did and what's his uh opposition to a wedding ring does he just not like he doesn't he's not a big he wears a watch i know he has a watch he wears a

02:26:06 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 5:

watch that's it he's just like not he's like i don't know it just like i haven't worn them for so long i'm googling right now like reasons guys i was like nope nope nope nope i wouldn't even

02:26:16 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

let him talk tell him that they make rings now so uh cool like i i love those rings that are not made of metal at all they're made of like the rubber the rubber rings that you see a lot of

02:26:26 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 5:

sports guys wear well there's cool metal rings too like when i was at lucido yesterday i i was looking just to see what they had for guys and they had some super cool stuff that wasn't like stereotypical well i'm gonna say back in the day i feel like every guy just had a gold band and now

02:26:41 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 3:

you get like something that fits you right how do you feel about tattoos i'm seeing a lot of that

02:26:46 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 5:

lately i don't i don't love that i don't love the tattoo ring no disrespect if you have it i just

02:26:52 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 2:

personally don't love that you tattoo anything about a relationship on your body whether it's a name or a ring you're causing problems well then in the atmosphere the atmosphere i feel like i

02:27:04 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 5:

kind of added fuel to the fire and not in a great way because he said when you were with franny earlier today did you find a band that you liked and i said i i tried a bunch on but i don't know that I want to wear a band with this engagement ring because I like just the ring.

02:27:18 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 2:

Our backstage passers gave me his ring. He gave me, look at the diamonds. First off, I've never known enough.

02:27:24 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 4:

I honestly saw your ring from across the room earlier today, sparkly.

02:27:27 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 2:

The guys that came in studio for our backstage pass that, oh my God, look at this. This ring's got more diamonds in it than most women's rings have. Look at you.

02:27:40 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 1:

Are you supposed to let another person wear your ring? Like, is there like bad juju with that or anything?

02:27:45 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, we talked about that, I think, the other day where it's like using somebody else's ring because remember that person got their ring stolen. I've heard people say bad things about that. But go back to this Wes thing because I want to talk about this. I want to focus on Wes. I'm not letting him off the hook on this. 248 says, his body, his choice, Shannon.

02:28:05 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

02:28:07 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 2:

But with Wes and this one here, I kind of understand. For a while, I didn't wear a wedding ring.

02:28:14 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 5:

I knew this was going to be your take because I remember you didn't wear one for a long time.

02:28:17 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 2:

And I did not like wearing a ring. I didn't like the way it felt. I didn't like it at all. And then I realized that it meant something to Chelsea for me to wear the ring, even though she never gave me crap about not wearing the ring. But I felt like it kind of solidified things a little bit. Uh, so I, so I put a, I changed the ring and I put a ring on and I actually really feel good about wearing it, but I also feel naked when I don't wear it. You know, I like to wear it a lot, but I, um, but I get it. I get it. If he doesn't want to wear a ring, he doesn't have to wear a ring. I mean, it's tough. It's tough when you're out flirting with girls and stuff like that to have to take it off and wonder where you're putting it. He is a good looking guy. You know, I see these model pictures of the two of you guys all over the place. I mean, you know, he wants to make sure.

02:29:05 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 5:

He said, if you're not going to wear a wedding ring, then I'm just going to change my last name, but to my maiden name, not to your last name.

02:29:10 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:29:10 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 5:

And he was like, this conversation.

02:29:12 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something? Don't get mad at me for saying this.

02:29:15 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. I'm already mad. What?

02:29:17 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 2:

I think you should change your name to your maiden name. And I'm not saying it because I don't think that Wes's last name is. I think you should change it. You're an entertainment.

02:29:26 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 5:

But I'm going to use this name no matter what. Shannon Murphy is my name.

02:29:29 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 2:

I understand. But your name should be Shannon Murphy. You should have never changed it. Not that it would No disrespect to your ex too But I think you should have He should have stayed the same Make the guys

02:29:39 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 5:

My body, my choice

02:29:40 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

Make the guys in your life Change their name to your name Do they understand That you have 100,000 How many followers on Instagram? Let me look real quick

02:29:48 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 5:

You don't have to change

02:29:49 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 2:

How many does Shannon have?

02:29:50 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but legally I would like to change my name Yeah

02:29:53 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Shannon has Shannon has 90.2 thousand followers

02:30:00 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 1:

You tell the guys in your life, until they get half that many, you're not changing your name to anything other than that. There's only one guy. Well, that's what I'm saying. He said guys. No, I'm saying, generally, you tell. That's your negotiation play on that one there. Megan, what do you think about Wes not wearing a ring? Do you have any kind of conspiracy theories that we can bring up on this?

02:30:20 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm really torn on this one. And I think a lot of it is, well, if you trust your partner, what difference does a ring make? Sure. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's literally just a piece of jewelry that does not signify the state of your marriage. It's just a symbol. And some people don't like certain symbols. And I get some people don't like jewelry, don't like rings, whatever it is. But I'm trying to put myself in Shannon's shoes. Thanks, Megan. I take it back. There she is. The bitch is back. If I was putting myself in her shoes I can understand the whole But if you've done it before Why not for me? That would really bother me It's not even that to be honest

02:31:08 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 5:

I'm really not comparing it to his first marriage It's just like we're getting married You should wear a ring

02:31:13 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 1:

Mika what do you think?

02:31:16 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 6:

I was saying that Beyonce and JV have tattoo rings And they're pretty solid

02:31:23 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you're going back to the tattoos. What do you think about Wes, Shannon's fiancee, not wanting to wear a ring, though?

02:31:32 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 6:

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I think if he got a tattoo of the date of the wedding and not Shannon's name, I think it's the name that makes it bad luck in relationships. But I think if he just did, like, your wedding date, I think that would be cool.

02:31:47 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but take tattoos out of this whole thing. because that kind of dirtied the conversation. What do you think about him saying he doesn't want to wear a ring?

02:32:00 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I wouldn't be okay with that. Okay.

02:32:03 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 1:

So, all right.

02:32:04 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:32:05 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 1:

What would you do? You would make him go get the tattoo, right, because you're hung up on the tattoo?

02:32:08 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It's one or the other. Either you're wearing the ring or you're getting a tattoo. But something has to be on that finger.

02:32:16 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Or a chastity belt. How about he has to wear a chastity belt? idea what's up jay's uh i was gonna say jc's on the phone jc jc is on the phone what's up jc

02:32:27 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

hey a couple things so one totally like i would not be okay with my man not wearing a ring otherwise like why you're into a shady business if it's comfortable like a whole comfortable thing get the tattoo or get a silicone ring because i do that when i train for martial arts second i kept my name because my last name is way cooler but plus my husband's name is kind of a name for a man like member and i didn't want that i didn't want that so i'm like my name is just way better

02:32:57 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 5:

what is it long his last name is schlong no she said no long oh i think he said schlong

02:33:05 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 1:

schlong is a total no i don't want that that's awesome yeah uh tara what's up it's mojo in the

02:33:13 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 3:

morning hello hello to know that that leaves a sour taste in my mouth i think he needs to wear his ring for sure days my husband forgets are days that i'm definitely side-eyeing like why

02:33:29 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 1:

didn't you wear your ring yeah really have you ever brought your husband's ring to him when he

02:33:35 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

forgot it at home oh absolutely absolutely i have taken it up to his work like hey you forgot

02:33:42 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 1:

something i even wave that in front of all the staff it's funny that i've known guys that they would leave their ring at home and their wives would be driving to you know wherever it was one guy one of the buddies worked for uh um delphi and he and he actually had his wife show up and the security person said that your wife is here right now she has something to give you oh gosh and it was the ring put it put it on uh blair what's going on it's mojo in the morning And Shannon's fiancee says he does not want to wear a wedding ring when they get married.

02:34:17 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 5:

I've been married to my husband for five years, and he has only ever worn his ring for, like, weddings or family pictures, and that's it. Eventually, he did get a tattoo on his ring finger of my initials. But being that it's a hand tattoo, it's worn off really quickly. So it looks like there's nothing there. Yeah.

02:34:38 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 1:

Texter 734 says, can we call him? I would love to hear his explanation.

02:34:45 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 5:

Call away. I don't know what he's doing right now. He sometimes is on calls for work. Okay. See if you can try him.

02:34:51 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hold on a second here. Poor guy two days in a row. Oh, did we call him yesterday?

02:34:56 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 5:

Didn't we? Mr. Johnson.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

We called him on all access.

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 2:

day or whatever the hell it was called hold on let's dial fat finger there really getting the

02:35:05 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 3:

full experience about what it's like to be in this relationship do you think he'll be uh

02:35:12 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 2:

honest with us about why he's not wanting to wear a ring yeah are you calling from your number uh i'm calling oh hey hi hi this is uh natalie or nicole you're

02:35:27 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 3:

From rosesbloom.com. Hi, everyone.

02:35:33 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 2:

Wes, we're talking this morning about you and Shannon and what happens after you guys get married. And Shannon, you want to tell them what we're talking about?

02:35:42 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 3:

We're talking about how you don't want to wear a wedding ring.

02:35:46 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes. And we were wondering why.

02:35:51 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 3:

I just don't want to wear a wedding ring. I don't know why. I don't really have a reason why. Hey, you guys, guess what? I'm on a conference call with some buddies right now, and they're on Zoom, so you guys are on my channel now. Oh.

02:36:03 - 02:36:04 | Unknown:

Hi, guys.

02:36:04 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 3:

Wait, hey, guys, what do you think about this? Well, yeah, take a poll, Wes. They said I have to take a poll. So Matt and Andrew, Matt, Andrew put up his hands on the Zoom call, and he's not wearing his wedding ring, so I'm in good company. Okay. And Matt is on the call. Matt, let me see your hands. He's got his arm, so two out of three. I'm a good husband, he says. Yep. You are, Matt. Are we on the air right now? You guys are on the air.

02:36:29 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 2:

We're on the air right now. Yeah, and we're just wondering what the story is. So is this a work thing, or are you guys just, like, talking fantasy football or something?

02:36:39 - 02:36:42 | Speaker 3:

No, this is a legit work thing. Okay. Sorry.

02:36:42 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll let you go back to your work there because you've got to come up with a better excuse.

02:36:47 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, have Matt Andrew help you. Yeah. They said, Matt, you have to help me. Convince me.

02:36:53 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's the deal. I already put a sticker on his water bottle

02:37:01 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 3:

02:37:03 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 2:

02:37:06 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I'm going to get a tattoo. That's what she's going to do. No. Kiss of death.

Good luck, Wes.

02:50:17 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 3:

02:51:33 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 1:

I'm a little bit shocked Ozzy doesn't get credit on that.

02:51:35 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

I think he, you know, he might have done a couple with them. I don't know. He wasn't on the credits for this. So we still, you know what, we're kind of hanging on a little bit. I like this, though. This is good. We don't want to end this. We don't want the weekend to start yet. We want to be able to have some more fun with the throwback throwdown. KP, again, we got a scorer.

to your son. KP Lydia will be out and about this weekend. Actually, they may not be because our friend Nick, Nick Hawanawa. How did you say that white people said your name?

02:56:58 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 6:

It's Hanawa in the white people version. Mojo is Hanawa. Hanawa. All right.

02:57:02 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 7:

So Nick Hanawa is a man of many businesses, but one of them is Puff Cannabis Company. He's the chief legal counsel. And he had the Puff people come by after he's doing a backstage pass hanging out with us. And I have not seen my producers at all in a while. It's not a joke. Like bags full of this. It's not a joke. Thank you, by the way, for your contributions and help with the charity event that we did with Sheriff Bouchard at Topgolf and everybody over.

02:57:34 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 6:

It's our pleasure, man. Ticket Fix Pro, we got to keep our sheriff's office and all their good causes in order and contribute to them, especially the sheriff's office. Because, you know, we got to be friends with police officers if we're going to be criminal defense attorneys. That's right. You want them pulling people over so you can get business. They pull them over. We get them out of it. It works. It's a win-win.

02:57:54 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 7:

It's a win-win. Full circle.

02:57:56 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 6:

But you want to hire a lawyer who's friends with the cops, of course.

02:57:59 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I like that. I like that idea. All right, guys, have a great weekend. Be safe. We'll be back next week. Bye.
