00:03:03 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 4:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it is so nice to have you guys with us it is taylor week here taylor swift friday saturday at ford field in downtown detroit we got tickets all this week listen to win matter of fact within like the next 15 minutes you have shot to win. Plus two for Taylor could happen at any time. And you know, on the Mojo in the Morning Show, it's actually a little more interesting because it's not that we play like a ton of music in a row, you know? So if you hear a Taylor song, there's a very good chance that we might play the next song of Taylor Swift. That means that you have to be the 95th caller after the second song so that you can go to the show. We've had winners starting last week and all through the weekend winning tickets to go to Friday night and Saturday night's shows. Friends of mine in Chicago, my good friends from the Fred show, said that the show was amazing. Shannon, I know, has got some little stories about that coming up here, and it's going to be just as amazing this weekend. One of the things that you know about Taylor Swift is she makes things very entertaining and she doesn't ever seem to kind of copy what she does the week before. She's just got a very creative bone in her body, which I was told by a teacher one time. You have a creative bone in your body. I'm like, okay. Just one? That was very nice of you to say that. We have that. we have a lot of stuff from the weekend and we have to welcome back Mike who is

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

back from paternity leave the beautiful baby if you guys could talk

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

quiet.

00:05:00 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 3:

That would be really great. I'm running on three hours sleep right now. So, no. How are you guys doing? It's so good to have. Were you already awake when your alarm went off? So about two hours before that, yes. And then I kind of tossed and turned for a little bit. And then I looked at Instagram and then I slept for about 45 more minutes and then I'm up. And I feel like it's a twilight zone right now. Like I got into work. I didn't know how to do anything. I have no idea even what I'm... I mean, I guess I know.

00:05:30 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, passwords become kind of like a what? I had a password that was there?

00:05:34 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, my key card didn't work when I got here, so I'm like, oh, no.

00:05:37 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, this is it. Okay. Mike, the one thing that having babies had done for me being a morning person, it made me know how to wake up by a body biological clock before the actual alarm went off because if the alarm woke up the baby, guess who was taking care of that baby? it was not going to be Chelsea in my case. It was going to be me until I could get the baby to go back to bed. So I used to figure out, I knew exactly when 3.30 was on my body clock. And sometimes I'd wake up, and today it happened too. I woke up at 3.20. And as soon as I got up at 3.20, I'm like,

00:06:14 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 3:

It's time.

00:06:15 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

10 more minutes isn't going to do me any more good than to wake up the entire house, even though I don't have the baby anymore. But in your case, if you get up any time within, I would say, 30 minutes or more, You're okay to go back to bed. If you get up within 30 minutes, you've got to get up and turn those alarms off.

00:06:33 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I still have that regular alarm, too. I didn't even think about changing that loud. You need to go to the lullaby that wakes me up. It's very lovely. It's a great start to be okay. Doesn't it make you feel like you want to go back to sleep? Well, I sometimes do.

00:06:49 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

But it's not so jarring.

00:06:52 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

You're going to tell this to a guy. You're going to tell this to a guy who almost missed the birth of his baby. Do you guys understand that? This guy almost missed the birth of his baby. Will you tell the listeners about this?

00:07:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

So I, the day of the birth, we were rushing quick. Everything happened so fast. And I ran out to grab our luggages and stuff to bring them up. And we were going to then go from the post-delivery room. And we would be all ready to go. And we would be situated. So I go grab our luggage. And I run up to the room. And as I'm running into the room, they're going, we need to get the doctor in here now she's not going to get her you know her doctor that she wanted to deliver we're just going to take whatever doctors here uh the epidural hasn't even fully sunk in yet we gotta go we gotta go we gotta go and I am freaking out like oh my god had I had I been you know 20 minutes later I would have missed the birth of my child and I would never I would have never let she would have never let that down I would have heard about that forever and ever and ever because I missed the birth of my little child and I'm sure this happens to people all the time but I felt like the like I was freaking out the second I walked in the room like where do I put the bags what do I do where do I go yeah real quick though for one second if

00:08:05 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

you don't mind me interrupting here for just a bit um didn't you say that you stopped off to go get some kind of chocolate covered pretzel thing and you had you were and Ali was asking you why

00:08:17 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

you have chocolate covered pretzels here's the thing they have delicious chocolate covered pretzels in the lobby of spectrum health they were really really good yeah oh they were very good i don't know why or where they're from but they were in the uh corwell health or spectrum health they're in their their food court or whatever they had a really nice one and i stopped and grabbed them and i ran up there and yeah i was eating chocolate covered pretzels as i walked so you almost missed

00:08:39 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

the birth of your child not because the baby was suddenly coming upon us you stopped to get

00:08:45 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

chocolate covered pretzels well yeah when you put it like that exactly what happened has any

00:08:53 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 2:

has anybody ever missed the birth of their child like has that ever happened because i i in one of my cases almost missed the birth of my child same situation going to the cafeteria and i thought for some reason i had time uh but also uh it was back in time to to uh to see the birth of my baby what What would you have done if you missed the birth?

00:09:14 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

I would have had to. That would be the kid that I have to constantly, like, go do things with just separately because he would have been like, Dad, remember that? Remember the time he missed my birth?

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, forever and ever. Oh, yeah.

00:09:24 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Actually, it wouldn't be the guilt feelings from him, too. It would be the guilt feelings from the entire family.

00:09:29 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, don't go home.

00:09:30 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. This would be a I'm sleeping outside right now. What's going on, Dustin? How you doing?

00:09:36 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

Nice and much. How you guys doing this morning? We're good. Welcome back, Mike. Yeah. Thank you, Dustin. I appreciate it. Good to be back. And, you know, it's kind of funny you guys were just talking about that, asking if anyone's ever missed the birth of their child. I actually missed the birth of my son that I just went to his graduation yesterday for.

00:09:52 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Wait, why did you miss?

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Me and his mom had some issues, and she wouldn't.

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 5:

just didn't let me know until 12 hours after I was born.

00:10:02 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 1:

So it wasn't chocolate-covered pretzels.

00:10:04 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 5:

They're so good, though. I wish there would have been a story like that.

00:10:09 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, listen, I don't think so. I think you're probably better off with a story, I hate to say this, of what happened in your case, the domestic issues with each other, because chocolate-covered pretzels you don't live down.

00:10:20 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but it would have just been a funnier story for my son.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, that would definitely be funny. But what's going on, Daniel?

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

Yes, good morning, Mojo.

00:10:29 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. and we go from Dustin to Daniel. What's happening?

00:10:32 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

My girlfriend, it was her first pregnancy, and it just so happened they gave us the wrong time. Expected, like, delivery, and both grandmothers missed the pregnancy, and they missed the birth of our child.

00:10:49 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, because it's difficult to, you couldn't call them, right? You guys were in the midst of doing what you needed to do.

00:10:55 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

She was only in labor for five hours and 33 minutes, and they told her to expect at least a 12- to 15-hour pregnancy.

00:11:04 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Wow. Well, thank God she didn't have a 12-hour pregnancy or a 12-hour labor.

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 5:

Her mom was pissed.

00:11:12 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 1:

Is she right there with you?

00:11:14 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes, she is.

00:11:15 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

What's her name?

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

Her name's Kaylee.

00:11:17 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Kaylee. How you doing?

00:11:20 - 00:11:21 | Unknown:

Hey, good.

00:11:22 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 1:

Kaylee, can you believe that Mike almost missed the birth of his baby for chocolate-covered pretzels?

00:11:28 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 4:

No, I cannot. That was crazy.

00:11:30 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 1:

What would you do if Daniel stopped for chocolate-covered pretzels?

00:11:35 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

I probably would cut it off. Fun fact.

00:11:40 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Fun fact. That's what I'm doing in a month. Thank you, guys. Oh, that's right, Mike.

00:11:46 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

I forgot you had your vasectomy scheduled.

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, July 14th. Katrina.

00:11:52 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 4:

Hi. It's actually Katerina.

00:11:54 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I apologize. Katerina, I like that. That's pretty. What's going on?

00:11:57 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you. Yeah, I just wanted to call. So my mom, when my cousin Nick was born, she was at the hospital supporting my aunt Tina. And she just really wanted a cigarette. Well, my aunt's in the middle of birth. So my mom stepped outside to have a cigarette. And when she came back in, she's all confused. She's like, uh, whose baby is that? Oh, my gosh. Where do you get the cigarettes?

00:12:24 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. By the way, that is a reason right there, Ui, you should quit smoking.

00:12:32 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Right? Yeah, that's what we've been trying to tell her.

00:12:35 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 1:

It probably made her go outside and smoke more. She was probably so pent up from that. Dylan, what's going on? Hey, what's up? How you doing? Dylan, you almost missed the birth of your baby, and it was because? You had to go pick up some family at the airport?

00:12:51 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I live about 40 minutes south of Toledo. And the day that she was born, my wife went in for just like a normal non-stress test because she had to do them every week because she had preeclampsia during pregnancy. So she went to the hospital. I was in Detroit picking up my grandparents. and on the way back she called me and she said um so they said that my blood pressure is way too high and they're probably going to take the baby so we rushed from Toledo to where I live and I by the time I got there is right when they were taking her back for the c-section oh wow wow

00:13:32 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 1:

would they have held off the c-section since it was a uh a surgery or no because of the blood

00:13:37 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 3:

pressure situation if you weren't there back it was it was real close they told me I probably had

00:13:43 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

maybe about half an hour before oh my god and the worst is parking at at hospitals is brutal isn't

00:13:49 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

it um well it would have been but like i like i took my grandparents car up there so they drove me straight there and they just dropped you off dropped me off and i ran upstairs i would have

00:14:01 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 1:

left my car running at the front entrance and just ran in there said here there's the keys go put it

00:14:06 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 3:

wherever the heck you want to put it yeah if it would have come to that that's probably what i

00:14:10 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 1:

would have done to drop off and ran so well we're really happy to have mike back uh sebastian emmanuel is in this world and uh he's probably growing every day isn't he yeah yeah i even just

00:14:22 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 2:

looked at a week later and his pictures are completely different really oh yeah it changed

00:14:27 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 1:

so especially when they they unsmoosh doesn't does he already have more hair on his head than

00:14:33 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 2:

you do mike uh yeah he's sure yeah and the the nurses called him a shower um when they snipped

00:14:38 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 1:

him and i was like oh okay so your so your child has more hair and is more hung is there a jealousy

00:14:46 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

going on here right now yet uh a little but i still have chocolate colored covered pretzels how smart are you is mojo in the mornings back in the day we have to go back in time

00:16:18 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 4:

00:16:48 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 2:

00:16:53 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:19:46 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, busy weekend. What you got in this hour is dirty.

00:19:48 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's start with this real quick. Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted shirtless on a yacht. Very him. With a 22-year-old model, also very him, named Megan Rowe.

00:20:00 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 3:

in Ibiza, very him over the weekend. That's all. That's all. That's the story. That's all you got for a story. That's the story. Breaking news. 48, 22, in Ibiza, no shirt on. Did he kind of look like

00:20:11 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 6:

he was on drugs, too? Just to top it all off? No.

00:20:15 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 7:

No, he didn't. He had a cigarette touch behind his ear. Let that man cook.

00:20:22 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 6:

It's amazing, by the way. It's just amazing. He just goes from one 20-year-old to another 20-year-old. 22. I just want to be

00:20:29 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 7:

He's so rich that I live vacation every single day like he does. Yeah.

00:20:33 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 6:

And it's wild because I think that he's, you know, he's obviously got great movies, you know what I mean, that he's done. But I still don't think that he's like the greatest of actors. Do you guys think he's pretty good?

00:20:44 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 8:

I agree. No, I think he's okay. I think he has a really good agent that gets him into really good movies.

00:20:51 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 6:

I mean, it's amazing, though, that, you know, women's, you know, he's a good looking man. You know, he's definitely better looking at his age than I would be, you know. or that I was, but I don't know.

00:21:01 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 7:

Am I crazy for thinking he's not that attractive anymore? Oh, I agree with you there. I think he was hot when he was in the 90s. Like, him and Romeo and Juliet, like, I had many a dreams. But today? Eh.

00:21:13 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. One more time.

00:21:15 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 3:

One more time, Megan.

00:21:16 - 00:21:17 | Unknown:

Eh.

00:21:18 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 6:

And how is he still doing this and nobody's like, hey, this is weird, Leo. Like, this is uncomfortable. Stop dating super young women. I don't know, because, well, look at guys like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. They're impregnating women when they're in their 80s.

00:21:33 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 3:

Elliot Page, used to go by Ellen Page, claims in his upcoming memoir that he had a relationship with House of Cards actress Kate Mara while she was dating Handmaid's Tale star Max Minghella. Elliot writes in his memoir, the first person I fell for after my heart was broken was Kate Mara. She had a boyfriend at the time. Elliot, again, then Ellen and Kate, linked up while filming the 2014 movie, X-Men Days of Future Past. And Elliot says Kate's boyfriend, Max, was very supportive of the two exploring their feelings for each other. Elliot explains that their romance occurred right after he came out, right around Valentine's Day in 2014. And Elliot says he and Kate are still very close and also said in his book that she comes out to support him at all sorts of events. She's actually going to be appearing at a promotional event in L.A. with him this month, which is really cool. Sydney Sweeney opening up about the first time her family watched Euphoria and said a few of her family members didn't get very far. She said her mom knew what her role was on the show, obviously very racy, but her dad did not. And she never really knew how to have that conversation with him.

00:22:48 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 4:

So he decided he was going to watch it without telling me with his parents.

00:22:54 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 2:

So your grandparents and your father pull up with some popcorn.

00:22:57 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

00:22:57 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 2:

Let's watch Sid and Euphoria.

00:22:59 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

00:23:00 - 00:23:00 | Speaker 2:

What happened next?

00:23:01 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 4:

My dad and my grandpa turned it off and walked out. But my grandma, my grandma's a good, she's a big supporter of mine. Grandma kept watching.

00:23:08 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 3:

Grandma kept watching. Grandpa walked out. In solidarity with the striking Writers Guild of America, Snoop Dogg is moving all of his Hollywood Bowl shows from June to October. Those shows are going to be with Dr. Dre, by the way.

00:23:22 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 1:

Hollywood Bowl, June 26th, 27th. We got to move that date. We and Dr. Dre, we stand in solidarity with the writers. So what we're going to do, we're going to push it back to October 20th and October 21st. So make sure y'all get y'all tickets to stay on point and stay on deck.

00:23:36 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 6:

They better have it negotiated by that point. That's right. Otherwise, they might have moved it again.

00:23:39 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse debuted this weekend to a stellar $120.5 million, more than triple the opening of Into the Spider-Verse back in 2018. In every other universe, Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man. And in every other universe, it doesn't end well. Second best opening of the year behind the Super Mario Brothers movie, The Little Mermaid, came in second, and that new release, The Boogeyman, followed in third. People are back. Major flop, by the way.

00:24:08 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 6:

They're back in the theaters.

00:24:09 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 5:

And a lot of people are saying this is the best Spider-Man of all. So I'm really interested.

00:24:14 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 6:

I was out with this guy that you just heard, Kev, our new guy on the show, and somebody walked up to him, did not reference him from being from Mojo in the Morning because it's still so fresh and new, but said, hey, you're the Imagine Theater guy because you are on the turn off your phone thing, or what is it?

00:24:31 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 5:

What is it? What is it called? Yeah, the turn off your phone thing. At Imagine. We'll go with that. Is that what it is? Yeah. It's called the policy trailer, so we tell you all the fun stuff.

00:24:40 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 6:

So they're like, hey, you're the Imagine Theater guy. And I thought for myself, I'm going, oh, yes, I am. No, you're talking to him. I didn't know. I was like, oh, wait, you're the guy that tells you to turn off your phone?

00:24:50 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, we saved that line for Paul. I say all the other cool things.

00:24:53 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because you keep your phone on when you're in the theater.

00:24:55 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 5:

But I'll tell you what, Mike, if you go to Imagine Theaters, you can see it for yourself.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

By the way, let me say this to you.

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 1:

If you catch Kev in the theater on his phone after he just did that thing, I want you to call us up, please.

00:25:06 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't really go to movies. Oh, you don't? All right.

00:32:40 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Do you have anybody you can give those to? If you would like, how about this? Instead of those movie tickets, I will give you a nice hug. You want the movies, don't you?

00:32:54 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I'd rather have a food gift card. A food gift card?

00:32:58 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you what. I would give you a food gift card if you got more than two. All right, so there you go. That was just a couple minutes ago here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Karen's still on the phone. Karen, we're trying to decide if we should get you something better than that gift that you were going to receive, which is the gift that everybody will receive this week. Let me grab some calls here, and I'm going to do this. Five calls says it all Okay, five calls If the five people Majority of the five people say yes Then we will give you something else besides that Alright Debbie, call number one Debbie, say hello to Karen

00:33:37 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi Karen

00:33:39 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi Debbie Your thoughts

00:33:45 - 00:33:48 | Speaker 3:

00:33:50 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 3:

Then throw me an event and accept defeat and take what you get.

00:33:56 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so absolutely not. So that's call number one.

00:33:59 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 6:

You get what you get and don't throw a fit.

00:34:01 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 1:

I just told Seth that the other day.

00:34:03 - 00:34:03 | Unknown:

Right?

00:34:04 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 6:

No, why don't we do this? Why don't we make it real simple? Let's just stop it at Debbie. Let's just stop it at Debbie because, yeah, I've given it enough time. No, no, no. This is a 10 call that says it all.

00:34:17 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 1:

I have to go to 10. I'm sorry. There's a fellow Karen on the phone, though. Kimberly is next here, though. Kimberly, what's going on, Kimberly?

00:34:25 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing good. How are you guys this morning?

00:34:27 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 1:

Good. 10 call says it all. There's one that says no.

00:34:31 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to be the second. I say no. If you do it for her, you can do it for everybody else.

00:34:35 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so no, no, no, right?

00:34:37 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:34:39 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 1:

No, okay. Karen, so far?

00:34:42 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Karen hung up.

00:34:43 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Karen hung up? Oh, okay. Then let's go to the fellow Karen. Fellow Karen, you can push it over the top, fellow Karen. Or you can start the wave of the future. What do you suggest?

00:34:54 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I got two things to say. Okay, so as a fellow Karen, her...

00:35:00 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Attitude is giving us a bad rap, but I love a Karen who knows what she wants and goes for it. And because she's Karen and I'm sick of the nonsense and I know she had an attitude, give it to her, damn it. Yeah, I like it. Give it to her, damn it. What?

00:35:16 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 1:

There you go. Yes, give it to her. All right, so it's 2-1. It is 2-1 right now. This game is getting good right now. Here we go. Let's see what the next call has to say. Mojo in the morning. Nicole

00:35:31 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not Oh my gosh she pushes it over the edge

00:35:36 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 1:

Wait why do you say no

00:35:38 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Her attitude sucks And she's ungrateful Take what you get and don't have a stick Karen Grow up

00:35:44 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 1:

No no no come on you guys are mean Yes Nicole

00:35:48 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 2:

No it's not me Karen's acting really ungrateful And she's not acting very nice

00:35:52 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 1:

No she was not she just doesn't like going to movies

00:35:55 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 2:

She was two seconds away for asking for the manager Yeah, but take it away. There's a lot of people who don't like going to the movies. They're like the prizes that they get, but they take it. We're not playing on Let's Make a Deal, okay? It's not Let's Make a Deal.

00:36:07 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 1:

Why do we come on? It's Monday, though. Can't we all be happy? It's such a negative world out there. Let's just say a gift card to, like, I don't know, Red Robin or something. We don't have any of that stuff that we can give her. Give her a Red Robin gift card, but it has, like, $3 on it. No, don't do it. Can you imagine it? She goes in there. You can go to Red Robin.

00:36:28 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 2:

I have one that's you.

00:36:29 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 1:

Here's the deal. It's got enough money on it so that you can get the freckled lemonade. Yes. Yeah, that's it, though. So good. It's delicious. She's sour enough. Although, I will say this. I will say this, though, with the freckled lemonade. I told Brian this. We need bigger straws because, for some reason, I get a little bit sometimes of the strawberry inside there. So it gets in there too much. But Robbie, yes. Robbie, you want to make a comment on the 5 of 655? Karen? Yes. I'm a loser. She's just got a bad attitude. Well, you know what? It's a Monday. The thing is, I mean, if someone cooks something and doesn't like it, I'm eating it because I'm not going to insult them. You're like me. I do that, too. What about that?

00:37:06 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 2:

What about that?

00:37:08 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

You don't need it. Mike, if somebody cooks something in the house, if Allie cooks something in it, if it's not good, you don't just still eat it? I will eat pieces of it, but she always cooks everything delicious, so I don't have to worry about that. Good answer. Why are you smart?

00:37:22 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't like Al, but I'm still eating them.

00:37:24 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 1:

All right. All right. Thank you for the call. Enough already We don't want to pile on Karen Because what, she'll get mad? Well, no, right She'll upset her It feels like a little much No, I don't want it to Seriously, it's not Karen, if you call us back I'll find something here for you Or we'll figure something out Why don't we do this? Why don't we take Karen If she wants to go to lunch today with us We'll do a show meeting lunch Like we did last week Where we did the lunch at Kirby's I got something to do after the show mojo of the morning we had the world tour of grad parties over the weekend good morning uh congratulations to all the uh recent grads went to a bunch of different parties had the most embarrassing thing happen and i want to know if this has ever happened to any listeners and if it has call us up and tell the story okay i want to hear the story behind it so chelsea and i went to I don't know, four or five grad parties over the weekend. A lot of kids that are friends of our son graduated and then had to at least make an appearance and also taste some of the wonderful food. Which, by the way, let me just say, the Geshkis, by the way, had some of the greatest food. Evan, one of Luke's buddies, some barbecue that was delicious. Was it on the mini sandwich? Mike, I think they even had little mini rolls that you could put them on It was wonderful, but you had to make your own It was pulled pork And it was also Pulled pork, the best coleslaw That I had ever had It was some place, I think that's in Lake Orion That was good And then the one that we went to last night Victoria's Victoria's mom is Luke's old Spanish teacher And Mrs. Aguilar Is she related to you at all? I wonder if she's I think we're all related And they had, of course, what do you think? They had Mexican food, Mexican cuisine, and also Brazilian cuisine and Spanish cuisine. So they had a lot of stuff. So it was good. But those were just a couple of the parties. And then Ryan's family had an amazing one on Friday. But I had already eaten, so I didn't partake in the food. I did have some beverages. But one of the parties we went to over the weekend was wild to see this. And you, by the way, in neighborhoods where the kids graduate, you can't find parking at L anywhere because there's so many kids that go to these parties. So every single party that we went to, we had to park at least a couple of blocks away from their home if we got there well. after the parties had already started because usually the parties are like two till six or one till seven or you know something like that yeah so there's one party we go to we uh pull up and you know ways kind of takes me to their address and i had never been to these kids house and actually uh chelsea had never been either and we pull into this neighborhood and we must have parked

00:40:20 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 1:

three blocks or so away from the house because that was the first place that we could find a parking spot on the side of the road that wasn't like in front of a mailbox or a fire hydrant or driveway driveway so we park and we start walking up towards the the party and the parties are always indicated by the congratulations graduate signs and then there's also like streamers or people do things right they do like different things to decorate and we're walking and we see the party we start walking up and usually what you do is you walk to the back of the house and people have them in their backyards or on their decks or whatever it is and it's that's kind of how the parties go so chelsea and i go walking around the house and as we turn the corner to go to the house we notice that they decorated for the graduation by having the gown that was worn for graduation hanging on like a hanger and then a picture collage of the kids from all the years well chelsea goes i think we're at the wrong house and i said what do you mean we're at the wrong house this is the grad party look at these people that are all hanging out there she goes First off, I don't recognize anybody. Secondly, it's a yellow gown, and Luke's gowns were green.

00:41:32 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:41:33 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 1:

For sure. We went to the wrong house of the wrong party. The party was actually two doors further down the street.

00:41:39 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 3:

But did you scope out the food and drinks at this party before turning around?

00:41:43 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 1:

But the wildest is the parents or relatives, I think it had to be the dad and the mom or maybe some other relatives, They come up and they walk up to you Hi how are you And you're like hi how you doing And you feel so awkward and I'm like I think we're at the wrong party And they're like oh it's down the street And they kind of like pointed it to it So has anybody ever gone to the wrong party If you ever have gone to the wrong party I want you to call us up and tell us Now we've had stories before on our show Where it's like I've gone into the wrong house Like where people are walking to the wrong apartment Those are cool stories But I don't need those right now I want the full-fledged, and I don't know if we'll get it, anyone listening who has ever gone to a person's house for a house party, walked into the wrong house, and went to the wrong party, or maybe showed up at the wrong time, because that gets embarrassing.

00:42:33 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 2:

I almost have to assume it has to be grad party to grad party, because what street do you live on where it's just parties on every house?

00:42:39 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're right. Actually, Super Bowl, though, sometimes.

00:42:42 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Super Bowl's a good point.

00:42:43 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good one. Or Fourth of July, sometimes. Or Halloween, maybe. Yeah, Halloween. That's another good one. All right. I'm not that dumb.

00:42:51 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't do all those. Who's going to stop you, though, if you want to go to a grad party just to eat and you don't belong there? I'm just thinking about that. What parent is going to stop, like if me, I look like I could be in high school. You could get a barbecue sandwich. You could get free food all weekend. You should try it.

00:43:04 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 2:

Everywhere. We should do it on Thanksgiving, just walk into people's parks.

00:43:09 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

I've done that before at games, like at Pistons games or Lions games. The Pistons games are hard now because you have to swipe to get into the suites. Back in the old palace days You could just walk right in And nobody would stop you But you'd walk into the suite And just start eating Other people's food Well remember

00:43:23 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 3:

You walked into The wrong funeral

00:43:24 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh that's right I was going to Keith Jenke My buddy's Mom's funeral And went to the wrong Funeral home completely But I didn't go into I walked into the funeral home Yes And I walked in And I didn't see her name On the thing My mind went like You walked all the way Up to the body That doesn't look like Can I Can I They did a great job can i tell you guys the the thing on friday too i um luke went to another prom on friday so you saw i posted the pictures from a couple weeks ago of luke's prom well luke went to another prom friday for um uh evelyn the girl that he went to prom with who goes to lake orion high school she is so she's a stunner isn't she oh my god look at the first off i i didn't post these pictures over the weekend because I didn't want to like you know uh intrude on you know the like

00:44:16 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 3:

too much of uh I think I saw Chelsea's look how beautiful I know I they're they are I know they're

00:44:21 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 1:

not are they just friends I I prayed I don't know I don't ask Luke Luke gets embarrassed I can't wait till Luke goes to Michigan State because I'm going to talk all about him at that point but now he's at the point where he doesn't necessarily want me to like talk about his life and stuff so when he goes to Michigan State yeah because we're not on in Lansing I am gonna just he's gonna be the topic I don't know if this is weird to say friend to friend But when did your son turn into a GQ model Mike He doesn't look like my kid And I don't think he is He looks just like Chelsea And I think she had an affair And at that time I can't figure out who it was That was in our lives It's ridiculous

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 6:

We go to the pre-prom stuff, and it was for Lake Orion High School, which, KP, your alma mater.

00:45:05 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And I asked my brother, by the way. He doesn't know.

00:45:08 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 6:

He doesn't know. No. The parents of everybody there, they were the nicest people. Honestly, we hung out with them and just, you know, walk up and just started talking to them. I didn't want to leave. Chelsea and I had, you know, we were going to go out afterwards.

00:45:23 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 3:

Everyone's happy there. Lake Orion, where living is a vacation.

00:45:26 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 6:

There was a house in this neighborhood that we went to that looked like a ski lodge. It was unreal, and it was like just a beautiful house. And then the house that we had it at was like a log cabin, this gorgeous log cabin house. All right, went to the wrong party. Let's go to this. Daisy, you there?

00:45:43 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm here.

00:45:44 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 6:

You went to the wrong party?

00:45:46 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Well, it was a baby shower. I took in the crib, the stroller set, like five different presents, a whole bunch of stuff. Set everything up, looked around, didn't see nobody I recognized, which I wasn't going to for a little bit anyways. I was new. And then figured out it was the wrong baby. Oh, my goodness.

00:46:07 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 5:

But how did you tell? Because all babies kind of look the same. Like, how do you know it's not the right baby? It's true. Is the name written somewhere?

00:46:14 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 4:

No. Well, the decorations were a little bit off because of the invite we got. Didn't match. And we even offered to help set up. There were things we've seen people putting stuff up. It made it a little bit worse. We knew we was going to be the only salt in the pepper shaker. That is awesome. And, well, they kind of just laughed at us and said no. So it's a little embarrassing taking everything off the poor lady's table, going to the other lady's room.

00:46:45 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 6:

That is so funny. Oh, my God. Thank you for the call. What's up, Crystal?

00:46:50 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 3:

Hi, this is Crystal. I actually did not go to the wrong party, but it was actually Christmas, and I was upstairs, and I was wrapping presents, and my mom came up into the room, and she said, I really think there's, like, people here from your work. Did you invite people for Christmas over here from your work because we have, like, our annual Christmas party every year? So I come downstairs, and there's literally all these food trays laying out on my kitchen table. And this lady and, like, whole group of people, like, come up, and they start hugging me. And they're like, Merry Christmas. And the one lady's like, oh, you look great. Oh. And I'm like, hi. I'm like, Merry Christmas. How do I know you? They were at the wrong party. They were literally. Oh, my God. But they brought food trays and everything. Oh, my gosh, we will never forget that Christmas. These people literally brought a whole spread and laid it out at the table. Nice. And they're like, oh, like they knew me.

00:47:51 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 6:

That is so great. Can you imagine if you'd just let go?

00:47:54 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 3:

Let's just have a party.

00:47:55 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 6:

Right. Ron wants to talk about the whole crashing grad parties. What's up, Ron?

00:48:00 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Mojo? Yeah, I did a graduation crash. Did you really? What did you do? I went in there and ate and drank beer for free.

00:48:12 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 1:

How long did you stay?

00:48:15 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, probably about three to four hours.

00:48:17 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 1:

And did anybody ever come up to you and say, so how do you know the graduate or whatever?

00:48:23 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 2:

No, they just let me stay there.

00:48:27 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 5:

Are you kicking Ryan out? I'm not kicking Ryan out. No way. Did you do it again? Because after the first time, I feel like I'm addicted now. I want to see how many times I can do it.

00:48:38 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 6:

Ron? Yeah.

00:48:40 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 5:

Did you hear what Kev just said to you?

00:48:42 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 2:

No, what he said.

00:48:43 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 5:

Did you stop at the one party or did you try it again?

00:48:47 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

I tried it all. We did probably about 10 of them.

00:48:52 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm impressed. Oh, Ron. Ron, that would be stellar. And you know what? There's so many of them going on these next few weeks. Just go and enjoy some of the food. That's such a great idea. Yeah. Yeah. By the way, Mike, you should do this, and then you should film them all, and we'll make a TikTok of Mike going to grad parties.

00:49:12 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 5:

I'll shave my face because if I show up with a beard, a full beard,

00:49:16 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 6:

we're going to be like, hmm. I'm one of the kids. This is tiny, man. And you know what, though? You should see some of Luke's friends now because these kids couldn't have beards in high school, and they couldn't do it because they went to a Catholic school. They had to be clean-shaven. There was one kid there, man. That kid had a wonderful mustache.

00:49:31 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:49:34 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, what is going on in the Dirty on the 30s?

00:49:36 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's start with a little Taylor Swift. Actually, let's start with her boyfriend, Maddie Healy, who was kissing a male security guard while performing in Denmark on Friday night. He was performing with his band, The 1975, during the Northside Festival, again in Denmark, and spotted this guard standing right in front of the stage. So Maddie made his way down below the stage, grabbed this guy.

00:50:00 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 2:

guy's face and just planted a wet one on him and the guy was totally cool with it this is something that maddie healy it's like a tradition he does that he does really okay i thought he stopped doing it out of respect for his queen taylor swift as he said at one of his shows but he's still going uh speaking of taylor she made an errand tour stop in chicago over the weekend

00:50:18 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 4:

the most beautiful experience for me to look out into the crowds on this tour I'm looking out tonight, I'm seeing so many incredible individuals who are living authentically and beautifully, and this is a safe space for you. She said she loved seeing all of the love in the crowd. In such solidarity, in such support of one another, in such encouraging, beautiful acceptance and peace and safety, and I wish that every place was safe and beautiful for people in the LGBTQ community.

00:50:52 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 3:

obviously she'll be in detroit this weekend my favorite tic tac of the weekend was her talking about pride versus harry styles talking about pride and hers was like very emotional and very loving and then harry just screams on stage when i raise this flag you're all gay

00:51:07 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 2:

it was just like the juxtaposition of the two is so funny uh trey songs is being sued for sexual assault after exposing a woman's breast at a pool party at a connecticut casino he doesn't ever learned does he now so this happened about a decade ago 2013 but according to these newly filed legal docs the woman is coming after trey his production company one of his record execs and atlantic records over the incident this woman fired a lot fired off a letter to trey songs last year and in it she detailed the moment when he pulled her breast out of her bikini top No consent there And it exposed her To the entire crowd at this party She even had video proof That it happened The documents say that multiple defendants Should have known about his sexual I don't know how to say this word Proclivities?

00:52:00 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 5:

That was very good

00:52:02 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 2:

And honestly are any of us going to correct Shannon? But this woman is saying All of you know what he's what he's like what he's done in the past you should have kept him responsible you should have kept him control under under you know or during this event and you didn't so that's why these other people are named in this lawsuit so the woman is now seeking 10 million dollars in

00:52:27 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 5:

damages from emotional distress thing that took place here when he was at our show yeah and he threw his equipment into the stage or into the audience um he got put on probation i don't know I don't know how long that probation was, but does this have anything-

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 2:

This was before that. So this was 2013.

00:52:43 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 5:

So this was 2013, and then ours was right after.

00:52:46 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 2:

Ours was probably 2016.

00:52:49 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 5:

Okay, because I was going to say, could this cause for him to have any more legal issues?

00:52:54 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he's definitely got, every year there's like a few things, you know, so. Big story in Hollywood right now, actress Natalie Portman's husband, Benjamin Millipied, is fighting to save their marriage after he got busted having an affair with a much, much younger woman. I think she's around like 24, 25 years old. A source confirming to me that Natalie and Ben are still together, but working very hard to repair the damage in the relationship. They've been married since 2012. Jonah Hill's girlfriend, Olivia Miller, has given birth to their first child, his publicist, confirming the happy news, but I don't have any details on the baby's gender or name. Is that why he wasn't at his sister's wedding? Yeah, I don't, I was wondering that too. I saw that Beanie got married and then I was like, wait, where was he? I don't know. Interesting. I don't know. Yeah. And the newest trend on TikTok is an ice cream sandwich made from McDonald's hash browns and a McFlurry. So if you like salty and sweet, apparently this is pretty delish. You just put a little bit of the McFlurry in the middle of two hash browns and make like an ice cream sandwich. And while some people were saying it's barfy, other people were like, well, if you dip your french fries in ice cream, this is essentially the same vibe.

00:54:09 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 1:

I've done the Wendy's Frosty with the french fries, and that is pretty good. So maybe this is good.

00:54:14 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 2:

00:54:23 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning. So I went out to dinner on Saturday night with Kev and his beautiful, I thought for some reason when he started on the show, he goes, yeah, she's my fiance. And I was calling her his fiance only to get corrected that he hasn't proposed yet. Yeah, I did the same thing. Yet he goes, well, we're like fiancés, and I'm like, okay, you tell me a guy that has ever gotten away with saying, well, we're like fiancés without having to pull up a ring.

00:54:56 - 00:54:56 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:54:56 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 5:

I guess I'm just that guy. You're just that guy. Yeah. So, Sherelle.

00:55:00 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 1:

was there his girlfriend who also is the mother of his soon-to-be child she is pregnant and man this is a really cool thing by the way it's a very cool thing for you guys to that you guys you know are going to have this baby and we found out that this is wonderful for cherelle too because yeah she was told by doctors that the possibilities of that would have been very very slim right

00:55:20 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 3:

she has a a thing called endometriosis yeah and uh it's an ovary uh thing and it's very difficult for women to uh to either not be able to give birth or to have very very difficult pregnancies especially you know during that time of the month it's just a very difficult time so for her to actually be able to conceive and carry a healthy baby this far i think we're about 16 weeks is a

00:55:45 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 1:

pure blessing that's awesome and she's a beautiful lady and one thing i realized going out to uh dinner with these guys uh you know shannon megan mike uh kp and lydia is if this guy ever go astray he will be dead he will not he will not be in trouble he will be dead because cherelle is like my wife chelsea in the fact that i have often thought to myself that if i ever go missing i must have done something wrong so i've been gone for a week and you guys got to know him

00:56:18 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 2:

a little bit more but before i left i thought the way he made it sound is he runs the show there

00:56:22 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say this to you He may think he does But like every guy Like Mike, like you and I He doesn't run anything You know what he runs? He runs to go get the car when it's raining Outside and he wants to pull the car closer

00:56:36 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 3:

I treat her like a queen That's for sure

00:56:38 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 1:

It is beautiful and it's beautiful to see them together And it's beautiful to see How you guys also Do a great job and how she does a great job With your son too Which Josiah and her taking upon the role of being there for Josiah and being there for you. So that's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing. Did you have fun on Saturday night? We ate like kings.

00:57:02 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Not only did we eat like kings, I drank like one too. Shout out to all the winos in the room. Had my fair share. But yes, about that, let's talk about that night. So the week leading up to it and a couple of weeks as we're planning this whole thing, it's Mojo, it's Chelsea, it's me and Sherelle, And I'm thinking we're going to go on this beautiful double date And we show up to the place And the first thing Mojo says is Oh yeah, by the way, we got two more people joining us I'm like I'm so caught off guard I'm like, what do you mean? Is this a party now? Are you sure it's two? Is it four? Then he's like, I would have invited someone else But he said he was busy I'm like, okay, what is happening?

00:57:41 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 1:

I have a group of people that we like to go out to eat with On Friday and Saturday nights It's my crew with Steve Gabara, but he was out of town too.

00:57:50 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 3:

And I think that's beautiful. I just would like a heads up. And I think that's how it should go, right? If you're going out with folks.

00:57:58 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you were a little taken back when all of a sudden you showed up and it was more than just us.

00:58:04 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 3:

Did you want it to just be the four of you? That was my intention. I thought I was going in there and I was going to get to know Chelsea. That was like my whole joy in life. I was like, yes, I'm going to go know Chelsea. We're going to have a moment together and this whole thing. But luckily Jessica and Will Turned out to be the greatest addition Aren't they? They were amazing Yeah and Will really liked Both of them like you And Chelsea likes you too They love Megan

00:58:24 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god Yeah Yeah Cause I did the same thing to you Megan And Mike I'll do the same thing with you and Allie When you guys come for dinner here August

00:58:32 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 2:

I'll talk to you about it later Yes

00:58:34 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 1:

So And Shannon I didn't do it with you I think we just Cause I wanted one on one time Cause I wanted to know this guy Wes before I wanted to know

00:58:42 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 2:

Were you embarrassed

00:58:43 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 1:

When I went to dinner with me? I know. No, it wasn't. It was just that. Is that why they sat us in the corner? I needed to know this guy.

00:58:47 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 3:

You got the corner table?

00:58:49 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:58:50 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm just kidding. They already did it.

00:58:52 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 1:

Is that bad? Do you have to tell people when other people are going to be there?

00:58:55 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 2:

I think you do. Yes. Oh, really? I do. Yeah. Yeah.

00:58:58 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're the odd man out here. Next time. Did you guys enjoy, though?

00:59:05 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

No, we absolutely loved it. Love Will. Will's the homie. Jessica was incredible. We all shared good stories, had good food, good drinks. It was just kind of like, oh, okay.

00:59:16 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 2:

You know what I like it, though, too, is because there was no nervousness going into it. He just showed up, and he was just there and ready, and he didn't have to overthink about the company that was coming. Not that you would. Yeah, that's true.

00:59:29 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Let me say this, though, about this guy. To show you how comfortable everybody was at the end of this whole thing, I found out that Chelsea and Jessica are going to your gender reveal party on Saturday. Oh, for real? Let's go. So, Sherelle invited them to go to the gender reveal party on Saturday. And they were going through, Chelsea was going through the, because she got the invite from Sherelle. This gender reveal party is like a wedding.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:00:01 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 2:

Do you find a place for it? Honestly, yeah. We're doing it at the Pistons practice facility. Oh. They got a great rooftop. It's going to be nice. Yeah.

01:00:08 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 4:

So, wait. So, the general reveal party, I didn't even realize, was at the Pistons practice facility. I thought it was at somebody's house. But Chelsea was reading through the thing. It was like, you know, like all the different things that are going to happen. Like, first hour, everybody arrives. Second hour, it's like planned out. Like, it's got second hour, you know, the couple comes. The third hour is when the reveal happens. The fourth hour is, you know, let's all party together and let's all celebrate.

01:00:34 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when you're talking about me just, like, nodding and smiling, I don't know any of this that you're talking about right now. This whole breakdown of what's happening, this is the first time I'm hearing about this.

01:00:44 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Oh, jeez, am I giving too much information? No, you're good. Oh, jeez. Oh, God. By the way, just so you know, everybody's invited to the gender reveal party, too. I just want you to know that. I'm inviting everybody. I'm going to do the whole thing right now. I did learn a little bit about Kev, though, from this thing. I did learn, first and foremost, you heard his mom on the air with us last week. And remember how his mom was awesome. She was like, please.

01:01:09 - 01:01:11 | Speaker 3:

She is so proud of you.

01:01:11 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 4:

She raised you to be right. Oh, my gosh. It sounds to me like Shirelle can call your mom at any time and tell on you.

01:01:19 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 2:

Girl, my mom just calls and texts all the time. Does she? About everything. She's texted the entire radio show. She's another on-air talent. Have you ever done something wrong, and has Shirelle ever said to you, I'm calling your mama? My mom usually knows. Okay. My mom is one of those, she'll tell you that I'm about to do something before I do it. She'll give you the head, something's going to happen this week. She's got this Miss Cleo magical ball thing where she knows what's about to pop off.

01:01:47 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Who are you more scared of? Are you more scared of? Shirelle.

01:01:50 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah, for sure.

01:01:51 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 4:

So not your mom? Nah. Really? Why? Because you can win her over by just saying, mom. I know my mom loves you. What do you do? Mommy whammy? Or what do you say?

01:01:59 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 3:

Little mama.

01:02:00 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Little mama or something like that?

01:02:01 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 3:

I was really hoping it was mommy whammy.

01:02:05 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 4:

Mike, do you have any fear of your mother-in-law? Does your mother-in-law, Allie's mom, have the ability to be able to put her foot down with you?

01:02:14 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 3:

So in the beginning, yes. Yeah, absolutely. Now I think she secretly loves me. I don't think she'll tell I don't think she thinks I'm the favorite son-in-law But I think she thinks I'm the favorite son-in-law

01:02:24 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

Are there any listeners that ever do that Where they call the mother-in-law Or they call their significant other's mom And like tell on you Like tell on you for doing what you're You know You're not doing what you're supposed to be doing

01:02:41 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 3:

My wife would do that with my mom though

01:02:42 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Would she really?

01:02:43 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah absolutely 110%

01:02:45 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 4:

That's exactly what I mean Yeah I guess I should have said it that way Does Allie ever use your mom as the, I'm calling your mom, Mike?

01:02:53 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. There's been times where I'll go to the store, and I'll come back, and my mom is there, and they're talking. They're sitting at the table talking. And you just know it's bad. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what happened?

01:03:03 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever gotten in trouble for something that you did or didn't do?

01:03:07 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 3:

So this was probably earlier in our dating stages, but it was a birthday situation, and nobody got me a cake. And you guys know how I am about birthdays. And so I was like upset about it And so I'm like I'm going to buy one myself So I went and bought a birthday cake myself And came back and my mom was there And she's and they both were just mad at me Because I threw a fit like a giant baby And they both were there to like Basically yell at me

01:03:32 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 4:

Basically well but yeah but you didn't get a cake for your birthday I understand that would that would be

01:03:37 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 3:

It's not that big of a deal though Like the way I stormed off about it wasn't that

01:03:41 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 4:

Big of a deal I mean come on Were they planning on getting you one and you just didn't realize that they were going to get you on?

01:03:47 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 3:

No, I have no idea. I just, it was like I had to plan, up until that point, I was planning my own birthday.

01:03:53 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I would call and tell on Chelsea if my wife didn't get me a birthday cake for my birthday. I would be like, Mom, I didn't get a birthday cake.

01:04:01 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I stormed off like a baby, like a big old baby. Went to Meijer and bought my own ice cream cake.

01:04:07 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 4:

I can totally see this happening. No wonder why. We never scarred this guy on his birthdays. It was the Allie and his mom scarred. There's a lot of emotional damage there.

01:04:14 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

emotional damage. Yeah. Brittany, what's going on? Hi. Hey, what's happening? Not much. My

01:04:21 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 1:

mother-in-law is my best friend. Hi to my husband, Travis, if you're listening. I absolutely call

01:04:26 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

my mother-in-law when he is not acting right. Really? And what do you do? Do you have her

01:04:33 - 01:04:45 | Speaker 1:

then have a talk with them? Oh, absolutely. My husband and his mother are very, very close. So i feel like sometimes if i can't get through to him she can that's amazing and so has he ever

01:04:45 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 4:

been punished for something that he has done as a grown man uh she'll definitely yell at him and

01:04:51 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

put him in his place but i don't know about punished but 100 put him in his place when he is in the wrong she does not take sides like that it's amazing

01:04:59 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

And.

01:05:00 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 2:

think that chelsea must be very happy that my mom died i'm not i'm not very close with my parents

01:05:13 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 3:

so my mother-in-law has taken in a lot of that role of being my mother so i'm very grateful for

01:05:18 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

her because i will because i will say this to you that i was so close with my mom too and i would have been the person that would have been like calling my mom from time to time you know mom

01:05:28 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 3:

And selling on her.

01:05:29 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. Chelsea's mom, this may sound weird, but Chelsea's mom, we lived with her mom and dad for a period of time when we were trying to buy our first house. And we were saving up money. And when we were getting ready to close on the house and we were moving out, I didn't want to move out. Like, I was so upset about moving out because, no offense.

01:05:49 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 3:

That was my husband. I had to talk him into moving out.

01:05:52 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

No offense to Chelsea, but every single night it was like lasagna. You know what I mean? I think I put on, I mean, I could put on weight easy, but I think I put on like 15 or 20 pounds in the 90 days or 120 days that we were living with her mom just to kind of save up enough money for a down payment on a house. I was like, this is all that pasta. Yeah. I've often dreamed of my in-laws living with us. What's up, Erica? How you doing?

01:06:18 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. How are you?

01:06:19 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on? We're talking about how Kev has to be careful if he ever screws up in his relationship. His mom's going to kill him.

01:06:27 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 6:

well i've been with um my boyfriend since we were 13 14 years old i'll be 28 next month and so she essentially helped raise me in my teen years especially when we had our oldest at 16 and

01:06:42 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 2:

who is this now i can call her about your mother your mother mother-in-law my mother-in-law yeah

01:06:47 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 6:

oh wow and so you can call him and you can tell on her yeah i can tell on him anytime anytime he messes up she's the first one on the phone and i'm just like he did this and she's like what do you mean he did that and she's on his butt right afterwards what's the worst thing you ever had to call her about oh that's a good one the worst thing was i don't know with us growing up it was more about our parenting duties yeah and kind of lacking him not during an argument said please

01:07:21 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 2:

don't tell my mommy no can you imagine by the way if you guys go to marriage counseling does mom also come with too do you imagine it's like the counselor like why are there three people here uh what's going on chelsea hi good morning hey good morning what's going on okay so my ex-boyfriend

01:07:43 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 5:

and i as you can tell it's an ex um me his mom was like his whole world so i called uh his mom personal advice because I just we weren't getting along on something and she ended up calling him and changing the complete story like opposite of everything that I said to her so he ended up

01:08:03 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 2:

breaking up with me over that what his mom said real oh so the mother-in-law got involved in your

01:08:11 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 5:

relationship to a bad point yeah yeah so it was like I was like that's not what I said like that There's nothing at all that I said. And he believed his mom over me.

01:08:22 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know. Listen, I will say this to you. I'm going to go online. That is probably more common than what we're talking about, about the mothers having a little bit of control. Because I always hear these stories where the mother-in-law is getting too involved. Dana, what's going on?

01:08:38 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 4:

I always call my mother-in-law or my father-in-law, but my husband's an A-hole.

01:08:43 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:08:45 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 4:

I've been married for 30 years. Anytime they're a jerk, I call them. I call them right out on it.

01:08:50 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

What has he done that's jerk material?

01:08:54 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 4:

I have kids, lay around all day while I'm at work, anything. I ain't talking about my sex life. I don't care.

01:09:03 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? You do?

01:09:05 - 01:09:05 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

01:09:06 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Wow. Do they appreciate to hear about your sex life, or is that a little awkward?

01:09:13 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 4:

No, that's fine. My mother loves condoms in front of me.

01:09:15 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

Does she ever give you advice On how to make her son Happy

01:09:21 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 4:

No She's just surprised That I put up for this grant For so many years

01:09:29 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 2:

Hold on my wife just called up Real quick By the way you were thankful That she said that weren't you My wife just called up What's up Chelsea

01:09:41 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Good morning So I just want to apologize I feel bad that We had Jessica and Wilcom Although yes we love them But we should have not done that So I apologize for that

01:09:57 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Now I'm expecting it

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Now next time we all go out and get two more people. We will do a redo. No, we're going to do a redo. It'll just be the four of us. And I'm also apologizing for my husband for talking about your gender reveal. Oh.

01:10:13 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 1:

Was I not supposed to?

01:10:15 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, you don't have to talk about anything about it. Not what's going on.

01:10:18 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 1:

But we gave them a lesson on Saturday, and the lesson was, if you don't want something talked about.

01:10:25 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 3:

Not to tell Tom anything. No.

01:10:27 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 1:

And you have to say What do you have to say This is not for the air And even that's only about 50% useful

01:10:36 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 3:

Well that should have been the whole Dinner no more

01:10:39 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 1:

I apologize Did I screw something up on that or no Nah Sherelle's texting she's like the gender reveal Will be lit okay alright good Sounds like everything's good so it's not see that I didn't screw completely up

01:10:50 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 3:

I will be texting Sherelle right now myself

01:10:53 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Alright we'll talk to you later chels love you see you all right it's mojo in the morning show congratulations to shannon uh she won our magazine's best dj in detroit and uh that was on friday that the westin book cadillac that you guys did the celebration and almost did not make it to the westin book cadillac for the celebration

01:11:16 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 2:

yes um so my fiancee wes and i still do not live together we're not going to live together until after we get married next year and so it's it we're basically living out of duffel bags at the moment because whenever we can we try to spend time at one another's houses and so we're just like throwing stuff and dumping stuff in laundry you know what I mean like in and out of duffel bags so it's kind of tough to constantly remember everything you need when traveling between the houses. Well, and this happens to him way more than it does to me because he's he's more so at my house than I am at his. But anyway, on Friday, Friday night was the night of the party. We were already kind of running a little bit later than we wanted to in terms of getting to the party. And so he like rushed through the door of my house and he's like, OK, I need to steam this shirt really quick. I need to do my hair, grabbed his shoes and I'm like trying to finish getting ready he went to change and all of a sudden he realized he had no pants he had a shirt underwear shoes socks his hair stuff his nice wallet but no pants to go to the party you should

01:12:32 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 1:

have shown up with him with no pants and that would have been hysterical that's one thing like

01:12:36 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

he has extra t-shirts at my house he's got sweatshirts pajamas underwear socks you know running shoes but no dress pants and so he's like crap crap crap i don't know what to do and i'm like we don't have to go it's okay like it's it's not a big deal and he's like no no no here's what we're gonna do he's like we're gonna go because the pants he likes wearing in instead of like fancy dress pants he likes wearing those lululemon oh yeah those are great the abc pants

01:13:03 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 1:

the anti-ball crusher pants or whatever they're called yeah is that what they're really called

01:13:07 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so he's like, okay, here's what you're going to do We're going to roll up to Lululemon Put on your flashers I'm going to run in, pray to God they have my size And then I'll run back out And I'll change in the back of the car So that's what he did, he ran in, told them what was happening They were like, we're going to do you a solid They steamed them, so they were crisp He came back in my car, changed in the back seat And we went to the party And he had some brand new Fancy pants on

01:13:35 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 1:

Did I ever tell you the story about Johnny Dare in the fancy pants? We should call, by the way. Actually, if Wes would have had to do this. So Johnny Dare, we went to Atlanta for Norm's party, and Johnny Dare showed up, and he put everything in his bag except for a pair of pants. So he didn't have pants and couldn't figure out where to get pants. Like, he was looking for a mall to go to, whatever. And, you know, there's that really nice mall that's right next to Norm's house, that really expensive mall there.

01:14:04 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:14:04 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 1:

Phipps Plaza. Where they have like a Nordstrom's. They have like a Nordstrom's and a Saks or something like that. Or a Neiman Marcus or something. Like all expensive stores. Yeah. Johnny Dare buys his pants at literally like secondhand stores in Salvation Army. Like he gets, that's where he gets his jeans. So Johnny Dare went to try pants on. And the cheapest pair of pants that he could find was at a Nordstrom's. And it was like $200 or something like that. Or like they were like.

01:14:28 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 2:

Not what he normally has. Yeah.

01:14:29 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't pay. Like he pays $30 for a pair of jeans.

01:14:32 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:14:32 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 1:

So, we now call those jeans fancy pants.

01:14:36 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

01:14:37 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 1:

So, Johnny, anytime that Johnny's going to anything, he wears his fancy pants. So, guess what? We got to figure out something for Wes. We got to call, what do we call Wes's pants? Anti-ball crushers. Yeah. We got to figure something out for him with that. Because there's nothing worse, and if this has ever happened to you, you'll have to call us up and tell us. Have you ever gone on a vacation and you didn't get your bags? Or have you ever gone? somewhere and you forgot to pack something because I always do that. I forget toothbrushes. I forget deodorant, but forgetting pants. Yeah. I don't fit in all these pants. I have spices. Sometimes I got to go to the big guy store. Sometimes there's no big guy store in certain places.

01:15:14 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 2:

And Wes is, he's on the shorter side, you know, and so I'm like, how are these pants going to be like not dragging, you know? They were a little bunchy at the end. Yeah.

01:15:23 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 1:

586 says that Wes should have Winnie the Pooh did. Oh yeah. No pants parties are always the best. no pants at the affair. Do they, by the way, do they do like a thing where they do a presentation or something or no? It's just a party? No, it's just a party. Yeah, it was really fun. It was going to be very fun. Because I was going to say, could you imagine going on stage, Wes is winning the pooing and you have Wes go accept and he goes, I'm sorry, but Shannon could not be here today. She's right now figuring out where my pants are and accept the award for you. Oh, gosh, That is hysterical. Well, congratulations to you. We're very, very proud. Thank you so much. And a great moment of Wes and no pants. All right, Mojo in the morning show. I got to bring this up, and I got to do this now because if I do it directly next to what we're about to do in a second, it might be two dirty things back to back. And I don't think this is necessarily dirty. So I went golfing, and I golfed with a guy that I don't know. So I got teamed up with him because we had three and they put a guy with us for a fourth and nobody wanted to ride with him in the cart. And that's kind of like for those that aren't golfers, a lot of times they always wanted you to have foursomes. They don't let you really go out with threesomes, especially when there's a lot of people that are trying to golf. And so I golfed with this guy and I hope he's not listening because he now knows what I do for a living. And at the end, he was really like, I'll check you out. He's like, I'm like, oh, okay, guess what? Because I was checking you out the whole time too. I was golfing with him, and he was the put-the-right-leg-up-on-something-to-talk-to-you kind of guy. You know what I'm talking about? The guys that will talk to you, and when they talk to you— Is that one of these? Yes, he does that. Exactly. The Captain Morgan pose. Yes, exactly, Mike. That's perfect. So he was putting the right leg up. So every time that we were getting ready to approach a tee box or we were waiting for the next shot, he would get out of the cart instead of sitting there just talking to me in the cart and he'd put his leg up there and he'd go so tell me a little bit about your kids and he would do the whole thing he would talk to me about this and every time that he put his leg up his balls were staring me right in the freaking face that was a power move it was the most unreal thing

01:17:39 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

so was he wearing loose boxers or no undies at all

01:17:42 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 1:

Shannon he was wearing his golf shorts that had the little bit of the looseness on them and he didn't have boxer briefs. He had like basically exposed balls basically there for me to see, for the world to see that, which I was thinking to myself, how is this guy not noticing that the air is breezing on his balls, you know? He definitely knew. He's that guy's balls? Because it would be like the equivalent of like for a woman, like a boob coming out, right? Like that's the same feeling? Well, yeah. And women, I think, so, well, let me tell you the whole story. If it wasn't, like, I'm trying to guess. If it wasn't five times, it was probably ten times that this happened. Oh, he knew. Every kind of time we were doing a whole, he would always put his right leg up in his, I'm staring. Well, that's the thing. I'm staring at these two hairy eyeballs, basically looking at me right back.

01:18:38 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, even if he didn't feel the wind, you know, grazing them, he had to follow your line of sight and know what you were looking at.

01:18:46 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I tried to be really careful because I would look down and then I would look right up. And I also was wearing sunglasses, too. Oh, all right. And I wasn't ball-gazing for a while. So I don't want anybody to think that I was ball-gazing for a while. But it happened. So we get done with our round of golf. You know, it's like four hours and some odd minutes after the round of golf. And I call Chelsea up to say that me and the guys that I was with and this guy, which by the way I say the guys I was with, my buddies were in the, were in the, they were in the cart next to us. I wasn't talking about this man's testicles. Um, I was calling to tell her that we were just going to grab something to eat real quick, like a hot dog or something. And then we were just going to go home. And so I called Chelsea up and I said, I said, yeah, you know, Oh my God, let me tell you a funny story. And I tell her, you know, what's going on and tell her about the guy's balls constantly like showing, you know, out. And she goes, why would you not tell him and I said what do you mean and she goes you should have said to him hey just so you know every time you put your leg up there your testicles are showing to me and she goes women would do that to another woman why would guys not do that to another guy I'm like guys just don't do that you don't do that right that's not a thing well I mean

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 5:

I'm more concerned with the fact that you've been staring at balls and now you've got a taste for a hot dog.

01:20:03 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 4:

No, it has nothing to do with that. He knew his balls were hanging. He knew that whole time. Yeah, he's free balling. But you don't tell him that it's happening. Put your balls up? Well, like, hey, can you put those away or something? Mike, you wouldn't tell a guy that, would you?

01:20:18 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 5:

I don't think so. I'd probably make a lot of golf puns. Like, are we playing basketball or are we playing? That is you.

01:20:25 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 4:

I will say this That the funniest out of the entire time That it was going on was I was sitting there trying to compare his to mine And I

01:20:35 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 5:

That was the green You just said you weren't looking for that long

01:20:38 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 4:

No I could see them But I was thinking to myself I'm like going I wonder if mine look at that Like that bad Like his look really bad

01:20:45 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys compare balls? Well no Girls compare

01:20:48 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 4:

I used to hear Christmases I used to hear the word That the word was That people thought that the vagina was an ugly part of a body. Like, they thought that the vagina was not an attractive thing. I think the vagina's pretty. A vagina is so much more attractive than a man's balls.

01:21:05 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. You know what I mean? But also, I refuse to believe that you guys don't compare. I'm with Shannon on this one. Balls?

01:21:09 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no.

01:21:10 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 5:

We're talking irons and woods. We're not talking. Yes.

01:21:13 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

You compare penises, but not the ball part. No, I think they're just ashamed to admit it. I think they do.

01:21:19 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 4:

If you're golf referencing this one, we compare the driver. we don't compare the balls that you use. Is it better to have

01:21:27 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

bigger, is it more desired to have bigger balls or tiny or tighter balls?

01:21:31 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think you don't want bigger balls because if you have bigger balls, there's a problem there. Like really bigger balls. Well, it makes your ding-a-ling look smaller. You want, yes, exactly.

01:21:40 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 1:

But you don't want them low either. You want golf balls. Yes.

01:21:43 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 4:

And unfortunately, Megan, they go lower as you get older. And that becomes an issue.

01:21:48 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 7:

Like when I turn. It's so ugly and it just

01:21:51 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 4:

gets worse. When I turned 45 My balls literally almost touched the floor They were It got so low Chris what's going on Hey how you guys doing Good what's happening We're having a ball No No Kev No No What's up

01:22:12 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to let you guys know That is not normal at all Like he must have saw your set mojo And was like you know what I gotta throw this guy off his game

01:22:22 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 4:

it actually did throw me off my game it was kind of weird uh chris

01:22:29 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 3:

no i totally i mean the power move with balls coming out he definitely knew

01:22:35 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 4:

like on the course he definitely knows that was definitely powerful what's going on karen hi it's mojo in the morning hey mojo that's a friend's episode is it really on a golf course or where

01:22:48 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 6:

Well, they were in the coffee shop, and I think it was Phoebe's boyfriend who kept lifting his leg up and exposing himself. And I think it was Gunther who said, put your mouth back in the cage, buddy.

01:23:03 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 4:

That would have been funny to say. Derek, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:23:08 - 01:23:09 | Unknown:

Hey, what's up, Mojo?

01:23:09 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? So I'm doing pretty good. So let me tell you what was going on. And pretty much he was airing them out in front of you because it was a hot day, right?

01:23:19 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 4:

It was. It was actually a very, you know, it's one of those sweaty days that we just had.

01:23:24 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. So when you put your leg up and get the air to flow, he knew. That's why he was sitting down. He knew when he had to get up.

01:23:31 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 4:

He didn't want to do it. Yeah. And the golf carts have like these leather seats to them that you kind of like stick to a little bit when it's sweaty. Yeah. Can you imagine that? Your privates come out and you have to pull them off of the thing? Michelle, what's up?

01:23:46 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 7:

Hi, how are you doing?

01:23:47 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 4:

Good, Michelle. You say I should have said something to this guy.

01:23:52 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 7:

No, I did say something to him. He was a friend of mine.

01:23:56 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 4:

You said something to a guy whose privates were showing? But you knew him, right?

01:24:00 - 01:24:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I knew. Well, I walked up on him. They were sitting on a table, and he had his leg, like, bent. And I walked up, and I was like, oh, crap, I can see his balls. And then I was like, I can see your balls. And he right away put his, like, everyone started laughing, and it was the first thing I seen. They were out there.

01:24:16 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez. Compare them to a celebrity. What did they look like? Danny DeVito.

01:24:22 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 7:

I had to say something. I was like, because then my eyes dropped. I was like, yeah, balls are showing right now.

01:24:28 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. Lotta, what's up? How you doing?

01:24:33 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 8:

Hi, Mojo. You should have said your balls are showing. Bumblebee tuna.

01:24:39 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 4:

Wait. I don't get it. What is that?

01:24:41 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 8:

You never heard that before, Jim Carrey?

01:24:45 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 4:

He says that in Ace Ventura?

01:24:47 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 8:

Oh, God.

01:24:48 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 4:

Is that what he said in Ace Ventura?

01:24:50 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 8:

I haven't seen that movie in so long.

01:24:52 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:24:52 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 8:

It was the second one where they were, I don't know, in some other country or whatever.

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 5:

The only one I remember was Billy Madison, and in Billy Madison when they were doing the race and the guy trips over the or falls over the thing. Gross.

01:25:14 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 2:

Did you see that guy's balls? Yeah, they were weird looking.

01:25:18 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 5:

That's the only one that I remember from that. Sean, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:25:25 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Goose is the man who has the biggest balls ever, and he's from, I think, Africa, and they actually touched the ground. And they are huge. You said Google? Why am I Googling? Why? Yeah, all right. Yeah, Google, they have the National Geographic at one point.

01:25:44 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 5:

Are they disgusting?

01:25:46 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they're absolutely huge.

01:25:49 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

01:25:50 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Both sides.

01:25:52 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Stop it, stop it.

01:25:54 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:26:00 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning show. Megan says that she witnessed this in public and it was gross. And I actually, after the last discussions that we have, we're getting into a gross next like 30 minutes of this radio program.

01:26:19 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

But also both of the things that I'm talking about today are really gross. So I was like, wait, which one are we?

01:26:23 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, no, no. The, the, the, um, the, the, yes, which by the way, I don't find it to be a gross thing. I actually am attracted to it, but go ahead.

01:26:32 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

This is such a weird take, by the way. I need you to tell Mojo how wrong he is on this one because I went out to brunch this weekend and I'm thinking, you know what? I've had a long weekend. I'd like to enjoy, sit back and relax. And this couple stole all pleasure I had while eating my waffles and potatoes. And to them, I want to give them a giant middle finger because they just crossed all sort of social norms by doing this. So I'm sitting down and I literally had just sat down with like my drink, my plate, everything was right in front of me. I look up at the table literally right next to me. And this woman had the absolute audacity to sit there popping the pimples on her husband's back in his tank top. and she's going absolute ham on this man's back knee. And I could not believe that in public, at a restaurant, she had the audacity to ruin my meal.

01:27:37 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 5:

But how do you not find that to be something that I would be like mouth open, oh my God, I want to get closer just to see what that pimple really looks like?

01:27:47 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 2:

While eating? Yeah. While eating. It would be one thing if you were standing in line at Cedar Point. Because you know what? I see enough teenagers there falling in love, making out, whatever. That's not as gross to me as the pimple popping at a restaurant.

01:28:03 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 5:

You don't ever watch like the- Dr. Pimple Popping. I do.

01:28:07 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 2:

I don't know why you're justifying somebody oozing puss. Oh. Oh, somebody oozing puss. Gotta dump that one.

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 4:

Can't say that. Wait, you can't say that? You can say that. You can say that.

01:28:21 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can say that.

01:28:23 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 2:

He's being a dumbass.

01:28:24 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's about a pimple. We're talking about a pimple.

01:28:29 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 2:

Out of somebody's back eating establishment, and you have the audacity to defend this? This is the weirdest hot thing. I'm with you.

01:28:39 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 4:

This just proves that Mojo wants to argue with you. Look, I'm with Megan on this. I think it's all good for TikTok. It's good for Twitter. I don't need pus in my pancakes. Like, I don't need that. Okay. That makes me want to look sad.

01:28:51 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 5:

I just think this. I think that I agree with you. Maybe not that appropriate at a brunch, okay? Not to do it at a brunch. Yeah. But if somebody's doing it, like, Shannon, we joke all the time.

01:29:02 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I love even more than that, and I'm not doing it at a brunch, though, but I love peeling sunburn skin.

01:29:10 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:29:11 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 1:

Did I ever tell you guys the story about when I was in, I think I was at Target, and someone peeled my back that I didn't know. I told this story on the air. I think you did on the air, yes. Literally, she was like, I couldn't. A stranger. A stranger, Kev. She was like, I couldn't help myself. That's love.

01:29:23 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 5:

And peeled from my back. That's the kindest thing ever, a person to come up to you and say, I'm sorry, but you have.

01:29:27 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 1:

No, I wasn't.

01:29:28 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 5:

You have sunburn coming off of you.

01:29:30 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 1:

But I love doing that. I love doing blackheads on noses. Oh, my God. What's wrong with me? But I love it.

01:29:35 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea's obsessed with it, too. Chelsea loves when I have it. It's funny, because the one thing that she draws the line on is, I've asked her to pull the hair out of my nose and she won't do it she gets grossed out by that hair right here like on

01:29:46 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 1:

his ear what is that your ear like the middle of your ear it's what happens to you when you go get

01:29:51 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 5:

over the age of 40 when you're when and west is actually young for this probably but it's the worst thing in the world is your hair starts growing in place You never knew your hair could ever grow in What's going on, Felicia? Hi, oh, I gotta pick the button up here

01:30:06 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm on Megan's side for this one

01:30:08 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 5:

You're on Megan's side?

01:30:09 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 4:

I am, because If anyone is popping anything Or let's even say picking their nose Or even burping or farting at a restaurant That is gross That is just touching their skin And you don't know where that's going Even if it's not going to jump to your table I'm obsessed with popping my husband's symbols and all of that but i wouldn't ever do that in a restaurant so you keep that you save that for the privacy of your own home you're saying oh yeah oh yeah because i think about what others are thinking and you know that's just gross like people with acne or even just like blisters and things like that if you go into a restaurant and you just see that on a person's body it kind of turns me off from even eating so just seeing someone trying to you know yeah no It's gross.

01:30:59 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 5:

I get excited over it. It's kind of like going to a zoo and watching animals mate. I, for some reason, just fall in love with the idea of being able to witness that. But you're right. Maybe breakfast is probably not the right place to do it.

01:31:12 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 2:

There's a good piece of burnt skin, and it's like a long one, and it's peeling.

01:31:16 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 5:

Discreetly, discreetly. I don't care where it is, but do you peel it and then save it? I don't save it. Save it? No. Yes, you usually save it. You save it for the person, and then the person can actually have their own skin. It's got their DNA on it, so you want to make sure that they... I would show it to them. You want to save it. You got to make sure you take... What do you think, roll it up into a little ball and put it in their package? Well, just like when your credit card expires and you have to get a new debit or credit card, you always make sure you discard it yourself so that nobody else can take it. What's going on? Let me pick up Chris here. Hi, Chris.

01:31:47 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My wife pops my pimples everywhere we go. It drives me nuts. I cannot stand it. And I feel like it is something that should be done. them in the home but honestly i i there's something about her she can't see the pimple and not pop it so it drives her nuts to see it and it drives me nuts when she pops it but yeah

01:32:08 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 5:

i agree with megan 100 on that one uh mojo in the morning what's going on sam hi hi how are you good megan hates uh pimple popping during brunch so we were on a flight to boston and there was a

01:32:24 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 3:

Single guy peeling his dead skin on the flight and just kind of, like, peeling it and dropping it. And then, like, there was another stranger sitting next to him who asked him multiple times, please stop picking your skin next to me on the airplane. And then they ended up at the end of the flight, the guy, like, almost went off on him because he had asked him, like, three separate times. He's like, please, you're sitting next to me. Can you quit picking your skin and, like, flicking it on the top? Oh, you did the flick.

01:32:58 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 5:

My favorite, by the way, was sitting next to a guy that was picking his boogers, rolling them, and one time just throwing them and dropping them on the carpet, and there was a guy across the aisle that was shoeless. He was. Which is worse. Which is worse there. Natasha, what's going on?

01:33:16 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 2:

hi i was just wondering where is she putting the stuff that she's picking the puss

01:33:22 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 5:

let's ask megan megan where was she putting it um you want to know it's really great she was just

01:33:29 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 1:

like wiping it on the side of his shirt it's so gross yeah that is that is awful where were you having brunch at people want to know i was actually this is so bad i was at a drag brunch playing bingo and i didn't even notice it at first but somebody next to me was like well that i guess that's ruining this and i looked up and i was like how how dare you share that information i was pleasantly unaware in my own little bubble and now you've ruined it for me as well another

01:34:01 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 5:

texter here this is a great one uh 734 says uh megan that was brunch you shouldn't you shouldn't do that there but if it was at waffle house it's okay it's a judgment-free zone like planet fitness Anything goes at a Waffle House, right? It's the second date update On Mojo in the Morning Alright, why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out this morning here With the second date update Nate's not getting a call back Nate, and this is actually someone That you're willing to admit That you guys actually have had sex with each other Yeah, definitely Hey Nate, is this embarrassing to talk about on the radio? I know that you seemed like you wanted to not go on with us towards the...

01:34:48 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm trying to get some answers, so let's talk.

01:34:53 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so it's usually when we've done second date updates, it's usually the guy that...

01:35:00 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 1:

will ghost the girl after they will have sex with each other this is very rare that the guy gets ghosted but it's also conceivable that there are girls that might not want to go on another date can you come to any kind of a conclusion as to what happened on the date that might be a problem

01:35:17 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 2:

no honestly uh this past weekend we've made it the furthest on any date yet so okay so there

01:35:27 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

There were a couple dates.

01:35:28 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

Things have been going well.

01:35:29 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh.

01:35:29 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:35:31 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 1:

And what have you done to try to get a hold of her? Have you just called or have you texted or what have you done?

01:35:39 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, she's actually still returning text, but it just seems very, like, bottom priority.

01:35:46 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean by that? What kind of response are you getting?

01:35:49 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 2:

It's sizzling out. Like, you were just saying, like, it's opposite ghosting. Like, I feel like I can see the ghost in the distance. It just hasn't come yet.

01:35:59 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 4:

Is she giving you, like, the one-word answer or just doesn't seem interested anymore?

01:36:04 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And then, like, I'll text, and it might be, like, two hours past, and I know she's not at work. And I'm like, hello?

01:36:12 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 1:

Like, what's up? She's on the phone with us right now. Elise, thank you for going on with us. Are you okay with your voice on the radio?

01:36:19 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, it's fine.

01:36:21 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 1:

Elise, will you say hello to Nate?

01:36:23 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 4:

hey hey

01:36:27 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 1:

so you heard Nate talking I know you were on hold and that line that you're on has the radio on right you can hear the radio

01:36:35 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 4:

yeah I can hear it I get it he's not wrong I mean he's not wrong I have been kind of like chilling out on the text

01:36:44 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

can I do an educated guess on this yeah is it that you're like ashamed over the fact that you had sex and you guys did it you know a couple dates in

01:36:59 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 4:

no um no it's not that it's just awkward um it's just awkward I don't know um honestly like yeah we hooked up and um honestly like it's just like me you're just like a little it's just a little big for me like it's just it was not comfortable and i don't really think i don't know if this is like the end of the road it's

01:37:26 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 1:

nothing you can help it's just it's awkward i don't know let me let me do let me let me just ask real quick for one second i did not expect that it was going to go down there um uh and kp said to be ready with a dump button just in case because of uh she had heard what you had told her off the air yeah so we've got to keep this very very clean because i'm i am uh scared that uh it could get bad so you're saying that you guys had sex and it was not fun it was not fun because of of uh nate it sounds like this could be a big problem it would it won't be a problem to have Nate Have you ever been told that before?

01:38:17 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 2:

I've been told I'm well endowed But it's never been an issue

01:38:21 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 1:

So it's never been A woman that you might have been with Said no

01:38:27 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 2:

At least not to my face Wow

01:38:35 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't even mean it I know it's not a bad thing for some people okay so like i'm not even trying to be like mean or anything there's nothing mean

01:38:46 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 1:

about it it just isn't working for me it just wasn't something that you were yeah yeah ready for um have you have any of you guys ever first off that is an amazing problem uh uh to have although i will not joke about it because i couldn't assume that that could be a problem i I could assume that there would be some people, right, that would be like.

01:39:10 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 3:

Everybody's anatomy is different. Yeah.

01:39:12 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 1:

I mean. I mean, there are times.

01:39:15 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

You can't go into a lot of detail.

01:39:16 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, there are times where people are with and women are with, and maybe you guys have been somebody that's way too small, and you go, okay, this is not something that I'm interested in either, but.

01:39:27 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh, uh-huh.

01:39:28 - 01:39:28 | Unknown:

Well.

01:39:29 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 1:

You can work with that more.

01:39:31 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, small.

01:39:32 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 1:

Really? Okay.

01:39:33 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, for sure. because you can do other things, but, like, if you're too big, then it's painful. You can't, yeah. It's, like, not, there's nothing you can do about it. It's not enjoyable.

01:39:44 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Short King Spring, I'm just telling you, good work, gentlemen. There's still a chance that, yeah, we're all on that short game. Is that what you're saying? Well, maybe not all of us. Kev, I have no idea about you, but I've heard.

01:40:00 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 2:

But for Elise, that's like a valid If they were to be in a relationship She would not look forward to being intimate with him That's not going to work

01:40:12 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Marlene, what did you want to say? It's Mojo on the Morning, second date update

01:40:15 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I was just joking I texted and I said, big question mark, question mark Tell him to call me Trust me, we're getting a lot of those texts

01:40:25 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 1:

Really, do you like You want a man that's well endowed?

01:40:30 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 6:

Well, yeah. I mean, not to the point where I feel like I'm in labor, but yeah.

01:40:37 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 2:

But if it was really, really, really, really super painful every single time.

01:40:42 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 6:

But that's the thing about you have to like, it's like if you have a pair of pants that don't fit. After you wear them all day, they still come to the end.

01:40:52 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 1:

I never thought of that analogy. Tara, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Nate just found out that the reason That he's not getting a call back from Elise who he went out with a couple of times And had sex with is because he's too Endowed what did you want to say

01:41:07 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 9:

I was in a relationship For a long time with someone who Was playing with Donkey Kong 2 And it ruined our sex life It was painful He was such He's an amazing guy we're still friends But I did not want to have sex with him And that ruined a lot of things and it created risks in the relationship, and there was cheating because obviously there were things that I just could not do. So find yourself a nice medium fella and stay friends with this guy. I'm sort of curious. Congratulations on the huge thing, by the way.

01:41:41 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

I like that, by the way. She basically is telling you to dump him but then telling you, okay, congratulations. Mike, you want to know what the average is? Just curious, out of curiosity. What's the average? Well, honestly, you can Google that too. We've Googled a lot of things this morning. I don't know. I will say this, that maybe off the air we ask Nate and find out how much bigger than average he is. But, Destiny, what's going on?

01:42:09 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 7:

Hey, guys. Good morning.

01:42:11 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's happening?

01:42:13 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 7:

So, I've actually been in the same situation. I know where she's coming from. I have been in a situation where I felt like a guy that I was dating, it was just a little much for me. and i was kind of experiencing the same thing and so but i i had talked to my friends about it and i wasn't really sure like why i was having this issue and some of my other friends weren't really having that kind of an issue come to find out i learned from my doctor that women are actually um not all like the same exact size and i mean yeah well yeah on the inside we're not all the the same yeah women can are okay with certain yep we gotcha and others are not so i think that could

01:42:57 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

be the issue here yeah that's what i'm saying like you know their anatomy just might actually

01:43:02 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 1:

not work together hey bailey what's up it's mojo in the morning second date update so i really just

01:43:08 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 8:

wanted to say that i feel kind of bad for a situation but that there isn't there's hope Because some women, you know, I heard a lot of women saying it hurts. Some women prefer pain, you know? So it's like some of us don't mind that. And he can keep his head up.

01:43:24 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so keep your head up. Although I've got to be honest with you. If I was whatever the size is that you are, Nate, I'd probably be looking at it all day. I'd probably be fine with the whole thing. Gray sweatpants all day is all I would wear. You want to go golfing with this guy?

01:43:43 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 5:

uh kayla what's happening hi um i just had a question it's had they only had sex one time is it something that they can try to work around maybe by lube or like that's actually very

01:43:57 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

interesting because you guys only had sex once and this is one of those things where it's like you're willing to call off the relationship based just on that and i don't know you know like that last caller said about going to their gynecologist and stuff. I mean, did you like him besides that? Like, did you enjoy being with him?

01:44:15 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I don't even know that I have called it off. I think I just, like, slowed down a little bit. Okay. Yeah. Try it again. With text and stuff. I don't know that I... It's just kind of a... I don't know if I, like, totally... This is good for me to, like, listen to all this. Because I don't know that I really had made a decision yet. I just slowed down a little bit. So, Nate, you're

01:44:37 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

not, like, hurt enough by what she said and what was said on the radio to ever not want to go out with her again? Would you be willing to at least, you guys, go out and talk?

01:44:47 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm not hurt. I'm definitely complimented, and I have a little more information, I think. So I would definitely go out

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 8:

again, and maybe we can try to put the pants on more times, theory. Okay.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 1:

By the way, the interesting thing is That's a good analogy, actually

01:45:04 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 2:

One of you guys is in your car And I just heard the clicker of your Blinker That tick-tock of the blinker going And I'm thinking to myself, it's either that Or Nate's just going walking around Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 Shannon, get ready Because I have a Taylor Swift song Or two on my log

01:45:26 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay

01:45:27 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 2:

So get ready to do the dirty and then maybe two for Taylor to win some Taylor Swift tickets. Okay.

01:45:33 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 1:

The upcoming Barbie movie, as you can imagine, is very, very, very pink. So pink, in fact, that it caused an international pink paint shortage. Really? This is a real story. Yeah, architectural... I cannot talk today. Architectural, there we go, digest, did an interview with the movie's production designer. Her name is Sarah Greenwood, and she was saying that Greta Gerwig desire to have a completely pink set had some consequences. Now, some movie studios would have just CGI'd a lot of that, but they actually built this set to scale, like a smaller set, and they wanted to use paint. They wanted it to be real. So, truly, the amount of paint needed to match Bretta's vision led to an international shortage of fluorescent Roscoe paint. you could not get it anywhere if you wanted it. So I just thought that was so funny. To be fair, how many people were looking for that color? For that specific color, but Barbie scheduled to hit theaters on July 21st. So I also saw the story this morning that Ryan Gosling is hitting back at people who said he's too old to play Ken.

01:46:45 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 2:

When is that movie again? July 21. July 21. The movies have been so good this year. This has been like an amazing summer of movies.

01:46:54 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 1:

Gabe Vincent scored 23 points. Jimmy Butler, and is his name Bam Abadeo?

01:47:00 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 2:

Adebayo.

01:47:00 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Adebayo. I was kind of close. No, not at all. Anyway, they each had 21 points in the Miami Heat, evened up the NBA Finals, beating the Denver Nuggets.

01:47:08 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 2:

But you have to say this for all the Michigan fans out there. Who was the true star of the game, Shannon? Do you know? Duncan Robinson.

01:47:19 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 1:

Kev was mouthing it to me.

01:47:21 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 2:

He could have given me a second.

01:47:22 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 1:

And I could have sounded like I knew what I was talking about.

01:47:25 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Because at the end of the game, the Heat were down by a ton. And Duncan Robinson scored, what, eight points, I think, in the last? He came in hot, man. Yeah.

01:47:35 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 1:

A couple threes, got an and one. Showed up. Showed up big. Game three Wednesday night in Miami.

01:47:41 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

I honestly didn't think that the Miami Heat were going to win one game. I thought they were going to be swept by the Denver Nuggets. So them winning a game on the road like this makes me think they might be that team that, you know, like the Pistons were against the Lakers where it's like they were meant to win the NBA championship. Who knows?

01:47:58 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 3:

Do you think Jordan's illegitimate son was going to win the whole thing?

01:48:01 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 2:

Mike, I love that story, by the way. Don't you?

01:48:04 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, oh, yeah. I'm convinced that that's Jordan's son.

01:48:06 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

So is Luke, my son. My son Luke and I will talk about that all the time, and he's like, yeah, the Internet is saying that, you know, this is Jordan's son. God, he does look a lot like him, but also he plays like him too. He's great.

01:48:21 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 3:

Jimmy Buckets.

01:48:22 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 1:

But Kanye West and his family went to church this weekend, but they were interrupted by the paparazzi. And, ooh, Kanye was mad. He was with his wife, Bianca Sensori, and at least one of his kids. I saw a four-year-old song with them. He had this little bike, brought a bike to church. But they were being hounded by photographers the entire time. And at one point, Ye had to stop his car and just go off.

01:48:47 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 3:

By the way, was that in a church parking lot?

01:48:52 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

that he was doing that in.

01:48:53 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 1:

What were they wearing? He had to turn around

01:48:56 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 2:

and go right back in.

01:48:56 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 1:

Did you see what they were wearing?

01:48:58 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:49:00 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 1:

Kanye was wearing, like, like, leggings that were tapered and had, like, shoulder pads on. Yes, and Bianca was wearing this, like, black dress with this...

01:49:15 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Like a Lady Gaga Grammy performance.

01:49:17 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know what the heck. What the heck? It was just very interesting. Could you imagine? It was an interesting look for church.

01:49:23 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 2:

Imagine pulling up in church, and all of a sudden, you're getting out of your car, and you hear...

01:49:27 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 1:

You couldn't even see your face.

01:49:30 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 3:

No joke. Yesterday, there was somebody's work truck pulling out of their church. It's called Daybreak by my house, and it was a laundromat called Sit and Spin, and it was their work truck, and they brought it to church.

01:49:45 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift swallowed a bug On stage in Chicago last night As she wrapped up her weekend At Soldier Field And she actually told the crowd Swallowed a bug

01:50:00 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Did she really?

01:50:01 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 2:

She said, it was delicious.

01:50:03 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

01:50:04 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 2:

And real quick, I want to mention this. I was not there, but I know a lot of people who were there. Tom Sandoval, obviously, from the Vanderpump Rules, Scandoval, his band, he and his band, the Most Extras, were at District 142, where we're having our daddy-daughter dance. They were there on Friday night, and everybody said he was bad, bad, bad, bad.

01:50:24 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 3:

What does he do? Yeah, what does he do? Sing?

01:50:28 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Does he? Yeah, they said security was really tight because people were trying to heckle him. But yeah, he was there. So I know a lot of people who went to that show at District 142.

01:50:38 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 4:

He was in town hanging out. It's amazing to think that, you know, this guy, like his fame comes from being a cheater, you know, or, you know, these guys. And then people will go just because they're fans of the show just to see it. Like nobody, honestly, is District 142, which is a beautiful venue.

01:50:57 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:50:57 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 4:

Are people packing to go see Tom Sandoval? Like, do they really care about him that much? No. Or are they packing it because...

01:51:04 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 2:

It's a spectacle. The show, yeah. It's amazing. Yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:51:17 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 4:

It is Mojo in the Morning show. Two for Taylor. If you hear us play two songs from Taylor back to back, you have a chance to win Taylor Swift tickets. So if the next one's Taylor, you could win. Shannon's got an interesting dilemma. Megan and Mike and Kev and KP and Lydia, tell me if you think that this should happen. Because I'm thinking it shouldn't happen. But what's the story with your daughter?

01:51:43 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 2:

So Lucy is nine and she has never been to a concert before. Which is why you heard me trying so hard to find Taylor Swift tickets for the past couple of months. um yeah same i want them so bad i want but i want like i want taylor swift to be her first concert right so perfect i wasn't really thinking about it when all like the ticket master debacle was going down and so i i did not think it was going to turn into what it has turned into but it the prices are just so asinine right now and i am not willing to spend what they're going for i mean i think we looked on friday the cheapest ticket the cheapest ticket was 1200 ticket for one ticket $1,200 but a friend of Lucy's her family just invited them just invited Lucy to go to the concert with them and so on Saturday I think it's Saturday and I am so excited for her because she is freaking out that she gets to go with her her little bestie and she's so so excited and so over the weekend we went and picked out you know a little outfit for her to wear but i'm also like kind of bummed at the same time because i wanted to take her i don't think you let her go i can't say first off did they tell her or do you tell her um her friend told her at school okay there

01:53:03 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 4:

you go they okay well now you gotta let her go i have to let her go but here's the problem if you if you were if somebody were to call you as a parent the the parent of this you know of this kid and said, we want to, so-and-so wants to take Lucy to the Taylor Swift concert, then I would have said, no, you can't take her because it's got to be you there with her for the first time.

01:53:25 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 2:

I know, but I, I cannot, I'm not bad at this. Or is that, or is that selfish? That's why I-

01:53:30 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 4:

Is that selfish if you don't let her go?

01:53:32 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 2:

It's her first concert, though. I know, but-

01:53:33 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 4:

Like, very first.

01:53:35 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 2:

But it's Taylor with her best friend. She's going to have the best night ever, right?

01:53:38 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 3:

That first concert should be with, with you as a parent, right? Yeah, absolutely. Well, yeah, and with what we do, and it's a big deal, I feel like. I would want to go. I want to go to my daughter's first concert. I don't know what it's going to be. I don't think it'll be Taylor Swift, only because I can't. How am I going to take her to any other concert after Taylor Swift? It's going to be one of the greatest concerts ever.

01:53:57 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Megan, your thoughts on this one here. If Shannon, if it were different, and the kid didn't say something to Lucy, Like say for instance That the parent called And said I want to take Your daughter Shannon to this concert Would Shannon be out of line If she said no I want to take her

01:54:17 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 1:

I think so

01:54:17 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 4:

You think so?

01:54:19 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah because you're taking away What will definitely 100% be a Lifetime memory away Yeah For selfish reasons Yeah And I say that so lovingly I just feel Like if And that's why part of me Feels bad for Because I'm like Oh I really want to be the one To take her

01:54:36 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 2:

but also she's gonna have the best night ever.

01:54:39 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 1:

She is. I also think it would be one thing if it was like, this is a terrible analogy, but like the Wiggles. Like that is like a no hard path. Well here's the problem.

01:54:49 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

The next, she's gonna go, Taylor Swift is gonna be so fun, she's gonna be with her friend, and then I'm gonna be like, we're gonna see Blippi. And she's woo, and that's gonna be my experience with her.

01:55:00 - 01:55:01 | Speaker 4:

Her first concert.

01:55:01 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, hello. Hi, would Shannon? We are not going to see Blippi.

01:55:04 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 4:

Hi, yeah, I wanted to make a comment.

01:55:06 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 3:

Yes, go ahead.

01:55:07 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I think that would be in her first concert. You don't want to pay $1,200 for a damn ticket.

01:55:13 - 01:55:13 | Unknown:

Right.

01:55:14 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 4:

Go with them to the concert just to take pictures in front of it. And when they leave, if they go out to eat, go with them.

01:55:20 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so Shannon should still go to the concert. Well, she's going to be there because we're going to be broadcasting from there. But Shannon, that's actually not a bad idea. Have them stop by the old broadcast booth, the Mojo on the Morning broadcast booth, so that you can take some pictures with her and walk her right to the door. And then when she's going goodbye, you're like, goodbye. Do you need a chaperone? See you later.

01:55:46 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 4:

Have a great time. And then you know what's going to happen? You don't have to eat a something afterwards to take pictures.

01:55:51 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 3:

What's your name?

01:55:53 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 4:

Brenda.

01:55:54 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 3:

She'll be crying like a baby then in the parking lot, and I'll be running to my car at that moment. I don't want to witness that.

01:56:01 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 4:

I'm calling from Detroit. And I listen to you guys every morning as much as I can.

01:56:06 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:56:07 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 4:

And I'm on my way to work. And just a little shout out to my company, Did That.

01:56:10 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we love that. All right. By the way, Shannon's, you know what Shannon's first concert is going to be? Shannon's first concert. Her first concert is going to be like Big Time Rush or something like that. It's going to be like, who cares? Tom Sandowall. Right. What's up, Kelly? How you doing?

01:56:28 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey there, everyone. Good morning. Good morning. So there's this thing that happens the day of the concert. If you just go on StubHub and, like, keep refreshing, eventually you're going to find a really sweet ticket. So that's what I was doing this past Friday with the Chicago ticket. I just kept refreshing, and I saw it go as low as $400. Really? So just keep refreshing, Shannon. Yeah.

01:56:49 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

But even at this point, I wouldn't be sitting by her. So it's like, what's the point? Well, maybe what you do. You know what I mean?

01:56:54 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but also they have, like, a lot of the bars before have, like, Firebird and Old Shillelagh are having, like, Taylor Swift parties. So maybe you can go there with her. Like, they're having, like, Taylor-themed parties and a DJ and, like, Taylor Swift drinks and stuff like that.

01:57:08 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 3:

By the way, she's seven, just so you know that. She's nine.

01:57:11 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 7:

Nine, I'm sorry.

01:57:13 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Sam, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:57:16 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I have an eight-year-old, almost nine-year-old, who would absolutely die, like, physically die if she got to go see Taylor Swift. and, like, the amount of joy that she's going to have to see her. Like, no matter what, her being able to talk about it with you and the photos that she's going to take, it's going to be like you're there anyways, even though, you know, you are going to be there and not necessarily with her. Yeah. Like, it's going to be, she'll relive it every day.

01:57:37 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Also, she came home from school screaming when she got asked. And also, I was like, but I, but, like, as, just as Shannon, not even as mom, I want to go to that concert.

01:57:47 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 3:

But here's the deal, though, Sam, if you use that as the analogy, What about Christmas then? Not spending time. What if this same family offers, hey, we'll take you on our family vacation for Christmas? Then what happens if this family takes custody away from Shannon of Lucy? And she no longer can. What are you doing? This is the handmaid's tale all over again. They took her baby away. What was that kid's name, by the way? The kid that's baby. Hannah. It was Hannah that was taken away.

01:58:16 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Don't stress me out.

01:58:17 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be of the other parent coming up here very soon. you better be careful. All right. Thank you for the call. Uh, what's up, Lisa?

01:58:25 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 7:

Hey, good morning. So Shannon, do not take this opportunity away from us. I'm not. Okay. So I would take it. I was very lucky. No, I was very lucky and got two tickets right before Christmas. My daughter's 17 and I was going to take her. Well, she's graduating on June 10th, which is also the date of the concert. And her best friend is here from Oregon. So I'm forfeiting my ticket for her friend. Oh, you're a great mom.

01:58:54 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, can you force the other ticket? Can you give the other ticket than the Shannon and let Shannon take?

01:58:59 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 7:

No, Shannon, I'll give you that ticket when I call and win the two for two.

01:59:03 - 01:59:04 | Unknown:

All right, all right.

01:59:04 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 3:

By the way, actually, this would be interesting. What if you got luck and found on StubHub tickets to Friday's show, and then you could take her Friday because she's going Saturday, and then you do take her to your first show?

01:59:14 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 5:

Ooh, ooh.

01:59:15 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 3:

There we go. And then we all think that she's a spoiled brat for going to come here.

01:59:18 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she doesn't need to go twice. Taylor Swift, two shows. We're going two for Taylor. Between now and the concert, listen for us to play two Taylor Swift songs back to back.

01:59:29 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 6:

Hey, it's Taylor Swift.

01:59:34 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 5:

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

01:59:35 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 1:

That's not it. Then call us to get your tickets. If you can count to two, you have a shot to win. Two for Taylor. And it's from the guy that claims to know Taylor personally. even though he's never met her. Mojo in the morning. morning show phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh second date update the throwback throwdown war of the roses five lies tell your mom all things that we do on the show and of course shannon's got the dirty on the 30 coming up here in just a uh few moments so stick around for that what a what a weekend huh what a crazy you know weekend of the beauty of this beautiful weather that we have and then to find out that we've got that grayling fire and the Canadian fire that is caused for Mike can you see I know that you guys got this red what is it called the the red something warning or whatever that's over in West Michigan can you feel the effects of this of the smoke

02:00:55 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 3:

Not right this – there's been a lot of pollen and stuff, but nothing crazy like that.

02:01:00 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the pollen's been nuts too. Isn't that weird how all this – the pollen's just floating in the air and you see it on driveways and stuff? They're in Grand Rapids and all of West Michigan, basically from all the way up to the UP into Canada, all the way through Grand Rapids and all the way down to Battle Creek. there is a warning over these grayling fires of the conditions that have been going on, the breathing conditions. And what the hell is it called? Is it the red? How do we not have our weather person, the official weather person? Let's go to her right now. Shannon, what is it called? You're the official smart person on the show.

02:01:48 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 2:

Easy sky.

02:01:50 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I thought there was a red flag warning. That's what it is. It's a red flag warning, and you guys have it right now in West Michigan. Will you do me a favor, Mike? Go outside with us on your phone and just run around the block a couple of times there in front of the building. How about this? Do a loop all the way down where Killwinds is. Come all the way back down. Come back around, and I just want to hear what you sound like breathing-wise. You know that's a couple blocks away. I'm going to make it down the stairs and sound like that. I just want to do it. I just want to hear, I want to hear what it's, what it's like when I, the weirdest part of this whole thing is that I've seen like the hazy skies in some parts, but they're saying over the course of these last few days that if you live anywhere west side of the state all the way up, if you go up north, they say that it's, it's very cloudy. It's very cloudy looking because of the fires that took place. And they had to shut down 75. Did they really? Yeah, they couldn't let people drive because of the fires that were happening. And I think Saturday finally got them under containment. And they were able to figure out a way. But I think the red flag warning is going to go all the way through Nashville, too. That's how far south. And we'll get it in Detroit area and Toledo areas, too.

02:03:16 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 2:

It's a very heavy feeling.

02:03:18 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 1:

Like, it's a very, like, I just thought it was hot.

02:03:20 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 2:

See, having asthma, I hate that. Exactly. Yeah, yeah. I hate that because it really does affect asthmatics so much.

02:03:25 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, and the pollen has been a thing that's been horrible the last couple of weeks. And we haven't had rain, I think, in, like, 15 days or something.

02:03:33 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 2:

We're not going to get rain until maybe this weekend.

02:03:36 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Melissa, what's happening?

02:03:38 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, it's called a red flag warning, and it means that it's a high fire danger. the smoke in the air that you're feeling that's the air quality that's what alert that we'll get so the red flag warning has to do with fire we used to get those in new mexico all the time where

02:03:55 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

i grew up so so let me tell you something they say that this grayling fire started off of a campfire yeah all i kept thinking to myself was please don't be mike please don't be mike because they say that the person that that started this fire it really didn't do anything wrong it was It's just that it's so dry.

02:04:14 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 4:

It's so dry, and so the embers fly.

02:04:16 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 1:

But all I kept thinking to myself was, because Mike was telling me on Friday when I talked to him, he was going golfing with Cecily. You know, Mike just had a baby. Did you hear about that?

02:04:27 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 4:

I did. Congratulations, Mike.

02:04:29 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Sebastian Emanuel. So he was getting out of the house with Sebastian's older sister to do a little round of golf. And then he was saying that you guys were going to go camping or on a boat or something like that.

02:04:42 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. We went out to Sandy Pines. Ellie's mom has a place there, so we went out to Sandy Pines. But it was very hot and heavy feeling, and I did see the air quality warning. I didn't realize that was the same thing.

02:04:54 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

I was thinking to myself, if all of a sudden I turned on the news at night, in Mexico.

02:05:00 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Megan, hold on. I'll let you be the newscaster on this one here. Yes. And if I turned on the news at night and they said a radio host from a local radio station started a campfire. Here you go, Megan. You ready?

02:05:12 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm. A local radio host saying we didn't start the fire.

02:05:21 - 02:05:22 | Unknown:

That is so good.

02:05:23 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 3:

And, of course, they would never actually say the station or the person. No, they actually will in that case.

02:05:28 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 4:

If it's something bad, yeah, they'll do it

02:05:31 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 2:

If you get yourself caught up In some kind of a wrongdoing Like you touch somebody in a wrong spot Or do something bad Like start a big old campfire that causes issues Yeah, they say A local radio A radio host from 104.5 SNX, an iHeartRadio station By the way, the most podcast And streams available They'll do that whole thing But if you go out there and feed children, you know, that lost their parents in a horrible, tragic accident, they'll be like, a local radio host fed a whole family of four. Next story. Well, listen, I was praying that it wasn't you because all I kept thinking to myself, with that guy's luck, that would be him. It would be Mike that started the campfire and poor Mike would be out there and he'd be like trying to put that thing out. We were just

02:06:22 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 3:

trying to make s'mores. We were just trying

02:06:24 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 2:

to make s'mores. He's like the greatest dad in the world. Name it the Mike Fire. The Mike Fire, exactly. Yeah, the Mike Fire. Thank you for the call, by the way, Melissa. I appreciate it. Angela, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How's everything going?

02:06:37 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's good. So, yeah, I heard about the red flag warning yesterday because of my phone, and then they had to shut down the street near me because there was a house fire, and they called, like, five different townships fire trucks to take care of it.

02:06:48 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Wow, five different townships for a house fire. You know it's dry because they're worried that it's going to spread further, right?

02:06:54 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, but luckily everybody got out, and they got the owner's cat out, so no injuries, so that was good.

02:07:01 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 2:

Didn't we get a ton of rain already, though?

02:07:04 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 6:

We've gotten more rain than we normally do. I think it was last month, though, but this— Oh, no, for the month of May, we only got 25% of the rain that we were supposed to get, but prior to that, we got a lot of rain.

02:07:14 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 2:

That's the thing that I was kind of surprised when they were talking about how dry it is. I thought that we had a really wet spring, but I think that it doesn't make a difference. It's like we've got to get a lot more rain each month. Mike didn't start the fire. Well, he may have, though. He does drive on mowers. Can you tell us, Mike, because you're the official camper of the show. None of us know how to camp. I mean, the idea of camping, to me, is painful. Oh, I love it so much. Can you tell us, how do you start your fire? Are you like a Boy Scout? Do you take two sticks and, like, rub them together, or what do you do?

02:07:53 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 3:

So I nerded out one day, and I researched a bunch of different things. You can take lint from your dryer and use that, and it will start almost immediately. So we take the lint from your dryer and put it, you know, under sticks or whatever, and it starts up immediately. Also, that's dangerous at your house, so you should clean that.

02:08:09 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was, like, one of my first jobs as a child. Make sure the lint is out the dryer.

02:08:13 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you actually will bring lint from home? I have a whole box.

02:08:17 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 2:

I have a whole box. You save your lint?

02:08:19 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 3:

I do. I'll take your lint, too, if you want.

02:08:22 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 2:

Check your belly button. You just don't go and get a lighter.

02:08:28 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 6:

Those fire starter sticks. That's what I use for my fireplace. Like what I put in the fireplace.

02:08:32 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the ones that are the starters.

02:08:34 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 6:

You could get the logs or you could just get the little sticks. Oh, the little sticks they have? Yeah.

02:08:38 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 2:

I didn't realize this guy's saving lint.

02:08:40 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You take an empty toilet paper roll and then put the lint inside of it and light it right up.

02:08:44 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 6:

Can you do that in your fireplace or is that a big no-no?

02:08:46 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I think you can do it in your fireplace.

02:08:47 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 6:

Somebody better tell me before I do it this winter.

02:08:49 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Quick question for you guys. Would you guys ever want to do a show camping trip? No. Yes. No. Absolutely not. The eyes have it. I'm sorry, what's that? Yes. No.

02:09:02 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 4:

Megan, you and I will go to New York and we'll nerd out on Broadway. You guys go have fun and Shannon and I will not be there.

02:09:10 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 2:

I saw Jay Towers. Hold on. And I saw Jay Towers is up north right now with his team in Mackinac Island.

02:09:19 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, at a hotel.

02:09:21 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 2:

No, no. I think he's roughing it.

02:09:23 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 6:

Jay Towers roughing it.

02:09:25 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 5:

Those two things don't go together.

02:09:26 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 2:

I think he's out there roughing this thing. And I think that he's out. We as a show need a bonding moment like this.

02:09:32 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 6:

We need a bonding moment in a hotel with beds.

02:09:34 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 2:

We've done that before. We do the I Heart Festival. Why can't we go to Mike's little camper that he has?

02:09:39 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 3:

I think you would love Sandy Pines. At a lovely hotel. Sandy Pines has like cottages you can sleep in too. And then you get golf carts and just drive around. It's camping, but it's not full-on camping.

02:09:50 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, I think we try this once. I think that this would be a fun little trip. It's total pure Michigan. We go up. I think that we all have tasks. Here I want the listeners to call up right now And I want you to tell us What tasks does this person have Like one person has to be the person To clean out the port-a-potty or something like that Megan We have that thing that weekend remember

02:10:13 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 6:

Don't forget about it So busy

02:10:16 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 1:

Not even in like a big RV You guys wouldn't go in like one of those huge RVs

02:10:20 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 2:

General RV would give us a nice RV to go in We all sleep in the thing I'm swamped

02:10:27 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 5:

Megan you are too How about this? How about this?

02:10:32 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 2:

The only people that are eligible to go to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, which, by the way, I think we are announcing. Aren't we announcing something soon here? Yes, tomorrow, right? Tomorrow around this time. So the only, or at 8 a.m.? Okay, so an hour earlier. So anybody that goes on the camping trip is eligible to go on the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

02:10:51 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 6:

I can't go to iHeart. I'm in a wedding that weekend anyway. Save my candy. Darn. Oh, no.

02:10:56 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 2:

Let's camp all the way to the iHeart Festival. Come on. Oh, no. Why are you guys such fun haters?

02:11:02 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 6:

We're not fun haters. We're just camping haters.

02:11:04 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. We got Tanya on here. Tanya, you think this would be a wonderful idea, don't you?

02:11:11 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I'm from the Upper Peninsula originally, and we have what's called UP fire starters. You take an old toilet paper roll, fill it with shredded paper, and melt candle wax and put it in there. Throw it in your fire, and your fire starts instantly.

02:11:27 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

And which person on the show would you want to task with that? Do you think that's a perfect job for Shannon? I think so.

02:11:33 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah. Bojo would be the best one, I think.

02:11:37 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'll take that task. Then tell us what task you think would be a perfect task for Shannon and Megan, because we're all going to do this together.

02:11:45 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 4:

They should go collect all the toilet paper rolls.

02:11:49 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes, okay. That's all you got to do is toilet paper rolls.

02:11:53 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 3:

Toilet paper rolls, spread the paper.

02:11:55 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Mata. Mike, what are some of the tasks that you have to do and Allie has to do when you take your kids camping?

02:12:01 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 1:

We have to set up the camper. We have to set up the area we're going to camp in. You've got to get the food. Somebody can cook. We need somebody to grill. Somebody to make the s'mores. Okay. Somebody to get the fires ready. Somebody to sit by the pool and drink.

02:12:16 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

See? Somebody to sit by the pool and drink. Shannon, you're perfect for that. You've been good at that. You can actually.

02:12:22 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 6:

I got my fellow camping when I was little. My dad took my sister's and I to Rondu Park in Canada, and then we upgraded a little bit. We spent summers at Camp Dearborn. Shout out if I flirted with you at the canteen.

02:12:34 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 2:

Camp Dearborn is like a day camp, right?

02:12:36 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 6:

No, you spend the night there, but they're like perma-tents.

02:12:40 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Brittany, what do you think about this, a show camping trip?

02:12:43 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 3:

I think it's awesome. I've been listening to you guys since I was eight on the phone scans on CDs, so I think this is a good thing. Don't you think? I think Megan needs to bring the food because clearly, like, she's just a big foodie. Mojo, you got to bring the alcohol. Mike's bringing the camping gear because clearly he, like, knows what he's doing. And Shannon just needs to bring the green bug spray and shanning oil.

02:13:05 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, you can wear Lululemon while you're camping. I don't care. It's okay. I'm telling you.

02:13:10 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 6:

No, thank you.

02:13:11 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:13:12 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 6:

I am politely declining.

02:13:14 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Misfit Michelle, you love this idea, don't you?

02:13:17 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, you guys, not only do I love it, Shannon and Megan, you would camp with me. Hear me for a minute. No. I have a 40-foot motorhome, listen, with granite power top, an oven that I can bake cookies in.

02:13:32 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, Michelle.

02:13:33 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 5:

I have an entire back room, Megan, that is specifically for makeup and wardrobe. Oh, hell yeah. Okay? I have two tents that extend out the side with awning. I have a TV in every room. I would take care of all the fellow shots. I have a double refrigerator and a double freezer.

02:13:55 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Here's what we're going to do. Michelle, we're just going to camp in your backyard in Lake Orion, okay?

02:14:01 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 5:

There you go, with my motorhome. You know what it's like?

02:14:04 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 2:

This is like when Chelsea said to me, you should take the kids camping. I bought the tent at Dick's Sporting Goods and set it up in my backyard. Oh, my God. I even brought, by the way, I brought an extension cord with the television out there that we would play video games on.

02:14:19 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, Mojo, you're hilarious. See, the first one to go in is going to be Mojo, by the way. Okay? We could play that camper for Faster Horses.

02:14:28 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, Michelle, did you hear that? KP wants to know if she can borrow that camper and you can go with her to Faster Horses.

02:14:35 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 5:

100% I'm in, sister.

02:14:37 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Actually, can I tell you something? I'm only tongue-in-cheek saying that I want to do this thing. you know for a fact. You'd be the first to get Sam. No, no. I would do an Airbnb at a gorgeous

02:14:46 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 5:

place on a lake. Well, here's the funny thing. I used to say I don't camp, right? My idea of roughing it is not being able to order room service after midnight and not having a blow dryer. But now I have learned.

02:15:00 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 3:

I have a blow dryer in my motorhome and I bake and cook enough that there's food all hours. Oh my god. I'm telling you. Camping's fun, man.

02:15:08 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 5:

I don't know why you guys are dogging it. It's a lot of fun. Honestly, I think it is fun.

02:15:12 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Go ahead, Michelle. And I have a bar. I have a bar. I have a full bar in my motorhome. Don't. You tempt me.

02:15:18 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it's fun. Okay, I'm telling

02:15:20 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 3:

you, Shannon. Still a no.

02:15:21 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 2:

It was a valiant effort.

02:15:24 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 5:

Mike, I give you so much credit that you do this because you truly are the only man on this show.

02:15:29 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 4:

You really are. I think you guys would like it. I think maybe not the sleeping part. That might be the roughest part. But other than that, you sit around by a pool or by a beach or by a bonfire and drink and play with the kids and stuff when it's the kids. But if it was just us, we would just sit around and play cornhole or drink or walk around and meet a bunch of people.

02:15:49 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 5:

It's just a huge part. Listen, when we would do baseball trips when Luke was doing travel baseball, that's what it was. It was just the fun of all getting together. We just went into the hotel room

02:15:58 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 3:

I have two courthole sets and jarts On my motorhome To keep us all occupied

02:16:03 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 5:

Alright well listen I gotta say congratulations

02:16:08 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 3:

About your little beautiful Beautiful boy and I love the name Sebastian I want to call him little Baz Baz

02:16:16 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 4:

We thought about the name Thank you very much We thought about the name Bash but I kept calling him Baby Bash And then that song kept popping in my head.

02:16:27 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day, guys. I love you. We love you, too.

02:16:31 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 5:

Take care of yourself, Michelle. It's going to be a fun week of giveaways. It's also going to be fun to see everybody that goes out to the Taylor Swift concerts because we will be there. You can come out and see everybody from the Mojo in the Morning Show. I have an opportunity to possibly even win some prizes, tickets to the show. $500 in merch could be yours. We've got a lot of stuff that we're going to be giving away this weekend, and we will be out at the Taylor Swift concert. Shannon, what do you have in this hour's Dirty on the 30s?

02:17:06 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, speaking of Taylor Swift, her boyfriend was spotted smooching somebody over the weekend that definitely was not Taylor. Maddie Healy kissing a male security guard while performing in Denmark on Friday night. He was performing with his band in 1975 during something called the Northside Festival. Spotted this guard standing right in front of the stage and went down and grabbed this guy's face. And the guy was cool with it. Just planted a wet one on him. Which is something that Maddie Healy has a history of doing. She used to kiss fans all the time. Oh, really? I thought he stopped doing that. But apparently.

02:17:41 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 5:

Now he's just kissing security.

02:17:42 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

He's still going. He's still going. Speaking of Taylor, she was in Chicago over the weekend making a stop on her heiress tour.

02:17:48 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 1:

said she loves seeing all of the love in the audience. people in the LGBTQ community.

02:18:20 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Do you know anybody that went to the Chicago show? Oh yeah, Fred

02:18:24 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 5:

and the entire show from the Fred show was there. Yeah, in I... Wait, what? They all got tickets? Well, you know, here's the thing. They're a syndicated show now. You know, they get syndicated. Oh, must be nice. Yes, they're on. Must be nice. Listen, we got, you know, syndication too, but it's not really, but we're on in Grand Rapids and Toledo. Fred's on in Chicago and Raleigh. And, you know, that gets a little pull with the record community The record community loves them for that

02:18:54 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but we're everywhere and everyone I thought they had tickets to both nights, too

02:18:58 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Megan or Mike, what were you going to say? Because I know you were going to say something that's going to get me in trouble Go ahead, no, go ahead

02:19:05 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say we're everywhere in everyone's heart So we should have tickets That won't get us in trouble

02:19:11 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 5:

No, that won't get us in trouble No, let me say this to you Tony's been working hard Can I be honest with you? All right, I'm going to dip the music down for one second here. Actually, no, because I can do it over this. The way that we approach it is different than other radio stations. So a lot of other radio stations you will see at these shows, we give you the tickets. Like, they give us the same allotment of tickets that they give the other guys.

02:19:35 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 2:

This is very true.

02:19:36 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 5:

We give the tickets away, which, to be quite honest with you, and I'm not complaining about this, I think is the way to go. Because, A, you guys should be the ones that have the opportunity to go. I mean, you heard Shannon talk about this. Her daughter is going to the concert, but she's going with a friend from school. She's not even going to the concert. And when I see these other radio shows, and I'm not bagging on Fred because I don't know where Fred got his ticket.

02:20:00 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 2:

But these other radio shows will go and they'll be at the concerts and they're like, well, I got to take my pictures. I got to be there, you know, do my pictures and stuff like that. I'm like, you know what? The listeners can take the pictures. But I see these other shows that do that and I go, all right, guys, you know, it's a little self-serving that you're going. And I get the idea that, you know, people that work for the auto companies get their own cars that they get to drive, you know, for free and stuff like that. And this should be our perk. But no, it should be your perk. And if it doesn't get his listeners at all to listen to us, we'll be one of those other shows. So that's why we're giving away these tickets. We're doing it for you guys. We are American heroes.

02:20:40 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 4:

That's what I was getting at. Huge heroes. Thanks, Mike.

02:20:43 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 2:

Huge, huge heroes. Now back to Shannon here right now. By the way, if anybody has any extra tickets.

02:20:47 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 4:

Leonardo DiCaprio spotted on a yacht, shirtless, with a 22-year-old model named Megan Roche in Ibiza over the weekend. Van Leo, that's it. No story.

02:21:02 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing still. It's amazing that there's dads out there that are probably turning over, praying that their 20-year-old daughters don't ever meet Leonardo DiCaprio.

02:21:10 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

There was a Philadelphia Fan Expo over the weekend, and during it, very specifically, a Back to the Future Q&A with Michael J. Fox, who obviously was Marty McFly in the Back to the Future movies. And I don't know if you saw this video, but he lost his footing. I don't know if he tripped or what happened as he was making his way to the stage and fell in front of everybody. But listen to the audience reaction after he gets up. Hopped back up. Totally good. Not injured at all.

02:21:59 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 2:

That guy, by the way, whenever I see him, we did those latest batch of interviews, my heart just broke for him, you know? Yeah. And he's been, honestly, such an amazing advocate To try to get the medical profession To be able to change their game To help people in the future that get Parkinson's

02:22:17 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 4:

Have you watched Still on Apple TV yet? I haven't I started watching it Is it very sad?

02:22:23 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

Very emotional?

02:22:24 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 4:

It's pretty emotional

02:22:25 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

It's amazing He was the biggest actor of his time At the time he had the biggest sitcom on television And did a bunch of movies Like this movie And then he got diagnosed And it really, it's been great that people still cast them in roles.

02:22:42 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And two viral stories. One, a man jumped the fence into the alligator habitat at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Here's the best part of the story. Guests who were there and saw this happen say the guy got within five feet of the alligator and was heard saying, another wild Karen, crikey, to the alligator. What a big dummy. No animals were hurt. The man was okay as well. And lastly, when influencer Alicia Marie had her passport photo taken, she had her hair and makeup done professionally, so she looked especially cute in her photo. Well, problem, when it came time to actually get on an international flight, her very casual, no-makeup, comfy flight look didn't look like her glamorous passport photo, so the agent at the airport didn't think she was the right person.

02:23:31 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 1:

They almost didn't let me on my flight. Because they said I don't look like my passport. This is why you should never do hot photos for your passport. Because I don't look like this.

02:23:46 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

That's funny.

02:23:47 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, her passport photo was stunning.

02:23:51 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 4:

Looked like a Victoria's Secret model. It was not fair. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:24:11 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Megan, how was Finley Pride this weekend?

02:24:19 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it was absolutely amazing. I had such a fun time. I had never been to Finley Pride before, and I was blown away by it.

02:24:29 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 4:

I loved all the videos and photos that we were posting on Instagram. That's good.

02:24:33 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 2:

Thank you to everybody, by the way, that came out to see Megan at Finley Pride. Also, thanks to everybody that came out to check out Channel 955 at Ferndale Pride. And Megan, you spent the night. Is that what I'm...

02:24:46 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, but before I get into that, it was really a treat if you stuck around until the end of Finley Pride because you saw me cry on stage. Oh, why'd you cry? We love it. It was just a fun, supportive, like, happy night. it was great it was

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 1:

totally great good cry yeah it was a it was a very supportive community cry so it wasn't a i drank

02:25:06 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 3:

too much and i am at a point now where i'm going to cry in front of everybody that's not megan mick

02:25:12 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 1:

i would never get drunk and cry that would never be me we could never i love you you know kev you should know the only time i'm nice is when i'm really drunk and then i tell people how much i love them and how supportive they are and that they're just good people right sham yep yep i I love it. It's my favorite.

02:25:30 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 3:

I can't wait for that day.

02:25:32 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

That's why I never get drunk is because I don't like being nice to people.

02:25:36 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 3:

So were you planning on spending the night the whole time and that's why you ended up having a little bit of fun or was this something that had to come on because you didn't want to drive home?

02:25:46 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 1:

No, I was planning to stay the night. I knew I was going to go to drag brunch in the morning.

02:25:49 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:25:51 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 1:

But what was interesting was at the hotel that I stayed at, it was one of those, have you guys ever stayed at a hotel where like the rooms are almost in a circle and then the middle of the hotel is like open and maybe there's like a like a dining area down there whatever it is

02:26:07 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 2:

like a what did you call it earlier mojo it's a courtyard area courtyard by marriott

02:26:12 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 1:

wasn't a courtyard by marriott but set up the same way and so the interior rooms all um obviously didn't have windows to go outside but did have windows that like faced in towards the courtyard

02:26:27 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's weird it's like your your window to the outside is basically to the inside you're

02:26:32 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 1:

looking at everybody in the lobby area yeah right right so i um i'm walking over to pride and it's time for me to leave my room because i got ready at the hotel and i was gonna walk over and i uh went to go to catch the elevator and as i'm standing there waiting for the slowest elevator that has ever existed in the face of the planet, I get a little bit distracted. You ever see something out of the corner of your eye and you're like, I must look at this immediately. So it caught my attention. I look over and I notice that one of the inner rooms has their blinds open. Now, most of those rooms just don't even open their blinds, but this one, wide open. Lights are on inside and that's when it clicks in my head. The bed is right next to the window. And I know that because I had one of those rooms too. bed right next to the window and i see two bodies being bodies intertwining bodies oh really moving bodies going absolute ham on each other now first of all very proud of you second of all the blinds really like you they had to have known right that everybody could see what they were up to maybe that's what they wanted yeah kind of sounds like

02:27:46 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 3:

That has to be, right? Because you know that people are walking by.

02:27:50 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:27:50 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 3:

And you can see. You can see in there.

02:27:53 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 1:

Did they see you seeing them? No, but there were. I was a little bit surprised because there were two events going on this weekend in Finley. Apparently, there was Pride. And then there was also like this really big softball tournament, I guess. So there were kids kind of everywhere. And I was a little bit surprised that this couple was just going. they had to have been like in their 40s maybe this was a honeymoon maybe this was an anniversary maybe they were just away from the kids for the first time but they were truly enjoying themselves

02:28:26 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 3:

here's the question for you though my friend how long did you sit there and watch

02:28:31 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 1:

well the elevator did take a while not too long only because I was like dang this is just gonna make me sad It's always awkward

02:28:47 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 3:

When you will And this happens at hotels and stuff Where you'll hear the person in the room next door to you Having sex And they're moaning and groaning and doing their thing And you have your wife saying Will you get your ear away from the wall But I will say this to you though That there is one of those things It's like a car wreck I have to see what's going on I want to know what the couple looks like If I don't get a chance to see them, if they're having so much sex, we had a couple that was in the hotel next to us during one of our travel baseball things. And the next morning, I got up so early just to walk outside, just to stand there by the door, just to see what they looked like.

02:29:29 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 1:

It's like an adult zoo.

02:29:30 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:29:31 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 1:

You gotta watch what happens. So is this a baseball thing?

02:29:34 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 3:

No. No. The couple that was doing it, ours was, we went to a Cedar Point tournament and we stayed at a hotel by Cedar Point. and the couple that was there was just some couple that was just randomly staying there.

02:29:47 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

02:29:48 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. Listen, there is no baseball parents that are having sex while they're kids because our kids are in the same rooms with us. Yeah. Or staying just, or staying, you have the same blocker rooms. Like, for some reason that...

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 2:

when they do the baseball tournaments, Megan, and I don't know if they did this for the pride, they put everybody in blocks. So it's everybody together in the same areas from the same place, usually because you know people.

02:30:11 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I was also losing my mind because every morning it would be knocks on the doors. Like all of the kids playing the softball, baseball, whatever it was, would knock on all of the doors in the morning, and I was like, I'm going to punch a child.

02:30:28 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 2:

Can you imagine if they knocked on that door? Actually, they didn't have to. They could look right through the window.

02:30:34 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 4:

Something wasn't knocking. Wasn't knocking some doors.

02:30:38 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 2:

The people that do this, that want to expose themselves to everybody and show this stuff off, they're kind of weird. It's kind of like a weird group of people. Wait a second.

02:30:51 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Is there a difference from a balcony? Because if I'm getting a balcony room and I'm on vacation, you better believe I'm using that balcony. Can I be honest with you, Kevin? You can't do that.

02:31:00 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 4:

Even if you know people are walking back. Yeah, you can't. It's the balcony.

02:31:03 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever, Kevin, have you and your girlfriend ever had sex on a balcony on vacation?

02:31:10 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 3:

See, this is one of those, should I say? I got to text her and ask her first. But yeah, we're here. Yeah, duh.

02:31:15 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 2:

Where are you? Where are you at and where's the balcony? I think we were in LA. So you're in Los Angeles. Yeah. And people can see you. Second largest city in the world. So here's the thing.

02:31:24 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 3:

So it's one of those balconies where you have, like, the person who's living on the left or the right or staying on the left or the right, they can't see. But the office buildings... Right, across the street. Yeah, they can see.

02:31:34 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 4:

You can't do that in L.A. Everybody there's too hot. Hey, we gonna do what we gonna do. No, no, no. I'm not getting naked in front of anybody from L.A. So are people on the street below, like, looking up and seeing you? Or was this in the middle of the night?

02:31:46 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 3:

It was closer to our room.

02:31:49 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like people that do that stuff, like, we've been on vacation before with the family. We went to Jamaica once, and all I remember was staying at a place that was supposedly like a family-friendly type of a place, and the people there, it's like, I know you're on your honeymoon and stuff, but nobody, my kids don't have to see you and, you know, Sherelle doing your thing.

02:32:12 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 3:

Buddy, this is life.

02:32:12 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

Although, I got to be honest with you. You have a beautiful lady, and it would be nice, but I don't want to see you.

02:32:16 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 3:

It's a beautiful life.

02:32:17 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 2:

That is? I don't know. Like, Megan, the people that you saw, were they ugly people, or how did they look? Describe them. If I was a police officer and I was saying, all right, ma'am, can you describe them?

02:32:31 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 4:

They were very average 40-something-year-olds.

02:32:35 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

What color hair?

02:32:37 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 4:

Black.

02:32:37 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Down there. In shape? Not in shape?

02:32:40 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 4:

Very normal 40-year-olds.

02:32:43 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:32:45 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 4:

Like that, not really in shape, but not really out of shape. Sure.

02:32:49 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Shannon, do you take offense to this? normal 40-year-olds.

02:32:54 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

No, because Shannon's not the normal 40-year-old and she knows it.

02:32:58 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 2:

That is true.

02:32:59 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 4:

She's smoking hot. She's hotter than most 20-year-olds. That's not fair.

02:33:03 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 2:

Ma'am, she looked like a young child.

02:33:06 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Kevin? She's like a little boy. You can say it. It's okay.

02:33:12 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Kevin? Not you, Kevin, but the listener, Kevin. Hi, Kevin.

02:33:15 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, listener, Kevin. How we doing, Mojo?

02:33:18 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 2:

What's happening? and Megan witnessed some hotel sex and it wasn't her involved.

02:33:24 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, totally. My wife and I, after we got married on our honeymoon, we were in Punta Cana, just sitting on our balcony and just so happened to see one guy come in with a girl and then like 30 seconds later, here comes another girl and we're just sitting there with our cocktails. No pun intended. Yeah. And just, we're like, well, I guess we're not getting in here right now. We may as well watch somebody else.

02:33:52 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 2:

So you sat there and just watched the whole time?

02:33:55 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was, and, you know, we had to critique the whole entire thing as well, so.

02:34:00 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 4:

What was your biggest pointer that they needed to? Wait, what? What was your biggest tip?

02:34:07 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 2:

Do a little analysis like Stephen A. Smith would do on an NBA final game. What could he have done better?

02:34:13 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 1:

What could he have done better? Yeah. Um, I probably couldn't critique it that well because he was definitely getting more than I was at the moment.

02:34:26 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 2:

At any point, do you sit there and you say to yourself, this is really depressing. I go on vacation to feel good not to have some other guy get to enjoy himself more than I do.

02:34:36 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I really couldn't be too depressed. I was in Punta Cana having cocktails on a balcony. Oh, I get it.

02:34:44 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate you, Kevin.

02:34:48 - 02:34:49 | Unknown:

Yeah, yeah, no problem.

02:34:49 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Take care of yourself. Yeah, I'm definitely more so like this listener, Kevin, and not like our Kevin. I'm more of the, I'm watching more than I am actually activity. Like if I said.

02:35:00 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 4:

to chelsea if we were on vacation and there was a balcony and i said hey chelsea why don't we go out there and have sex you know what she would do she'd go okay yeah you go out there and get everything ready and then i would go out there and she'd lock me out there wouldn't she and then i'd be like i don't have my phone the maid would come the next day and then i would be like okay please open the door for me i promise you this is my room um all right we're gonna give you a chance right now to go to our daddy daughter dance. It's June the 23rd. Daddy daughter dance is happening at district 142. If you're over 21, this is for you and for your dad, an opportunity to come out and celebrate dads and, um, you know, pretty cool thing that we do. Uh, daddy daughter dance. I noticed by the way, on the post that's on our social media, misfit Victor is very upset. Oh,

02:35:54 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I saw that.

02:35:55 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 4:

Did you? Do you remember what he said?

02:35:58 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes. He said, another, oh, wow, another event only for your female listeners.

02:36:05 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's very upset about that. So he said, and he's kind of right on this, but it's dads, we have guy listeners, right? Why can't this be enjoyable for the dads? So everybody's got to be a fun hater, Victor, on this whole thing.

02:36:19 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 1:

Victor.

02:36:20 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 4:

Victor. All right, the next promotion that we're going to do is going to be, we're going to do a guy promotion. It's going to be Camping with the Mojo in the Morning Show. With Shannon and the Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:36:34 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's top trending stories.

02:36:36 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 4:

Before we get into top trending stories, give it up for Mike, who's back from paternity leave today. So, how is that beautiful little boy doing? How is Sebastian Emanuel? Can I tell you something?

02:36:51 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 3:

What?

02:36:51 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 4:

Don't be mad at me, but this is just called, you know, I've got crazy brain here. I have to write his name down on a sheet of paper. Are you serious? He does have it right down. That's better than getting it wrong.

02:37:03 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:37:04 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Because a week ago, I kept calling him, like, a couple of different names. What did I call him? Sergio. Sergio.

02:37:10 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 3:

He did. Wait, I missed that. I was the first off then.

02:37:14 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 4:

I feel bad. Actually, you were off that day. You were off on Tuesday. I was like, Sergio.

02:37:21 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got his nickname now. There it is.

02:37:23 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 4:

So, Sebastian Emanuel, he's the cutest little guy in the world. I cannot believe how good Allie looks. She is just gorgeous. It doesn't even look like she had a baby. It's amazing.

02:37:39 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to take that clip right there and send it to her every day because I think she's feeling a certain kind of way right now, and I'm trying to – it's good to hear. It's good to hear those things right now.

02:37:51 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, she's an amazing mother, and I know that this is exhausting, and I know you took the week off, but you've got all the time in the world. You need some time with the baby and stuff. And I expect to hear, just like I've heard with Cecily and Milo, all of a sudden in the middle of a reporter, us talking, maybe just take Sebastian off her hands for a couple of hours during the show one day.

02:38:16 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 3:

And bring him in here? Yeah, and then we've got to live stream it, though. It's got to be for social media. It will be an absolute mess, an absolute mess.

02:38:24 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 4:

But yeah, that's awesome, man. So cool. A couple of stories here I want to get to and then we'll take off for today. Did you hear this? There was a sonic boom heard across Washington, D.C. yesterday. And then military jets, which is the cause of the sonic boom, had to go up into the sky from Joint Base Andrews. F-16 fighters had to scramble because there was a Cessna plane that was varying towards restricted airspace over the White House and the Capitol. Here's the wildest part of this whole thing. While this was going on, President Biden and his brother were playing golf at the golf course there at Joint Base Andrews. So they were safely on the golf course, but the F-16s had to fly up which caused for him then to get the word of why they were doing this what was going on yeah turns out it was an airplane that had been flying and it was flying from tennessee going to long island and then never landed in long island and veered back towards the dc area the pilots of the plane and all those passengers that were on board ended up dying they were they

02:39:38 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 2:

There was a mom, a baby, a nanny, I think if we're thinking of the same, right?

02:39:42 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It was actually something that has happened. It's kind of, they say fairly common, it happened to that famed golfer, Payne Stewart, back in the day.

02:39:52 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and if you watch, I was watching online, they had, you know, people are always filming themselves for whatever reason. So there was a couple that was like. playing their instruments and the sonic boom happened and you see their reaction and there's people on their ring cams they're you know dogs are outside and react i mean it was

02:40:07 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 1:

well that shows you how fast those f-16s were having to go up towards and what they were doing was they were shooting flares towards the plane to get the pilot's attention they never got the pilot's attention they knew something was wrong they got up towards the window and looked in and

02:40:21 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 3:

saw that the pilot was hunched over the most likely scenario here is that there was some loss of pressurization, which induced hypoxia. Hypoxia is just the loss of consciousness due to lack of oxygen. It can make you feel lightheaded. It can make you feel euphoric. You may not even know that it's coming on until you lose consciousness. Wow. Yeah, the entire family,

02:40:43 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 1:

the plane ended up crashing into an area that luckily did not have any homes near it. Delta Airlines flight from Paris to Detroit was diverted because of a violent passenger. 34-year-old man was restrained due to the fact that he was getting violent on the plane, was strained by the crew, then broke through the restraints, and five to six passengers then had to tackle the man and hold him down until they were able to land the plane in Canada, which then diverted the flight and then caused the plane then to come back to the Detroit area. I've not heard anything from any of the people that were on that flight, but if anybody was on that flight from Paris that took place, I think it was like on Saturday or something or Friday night, you'll have to give us a call and tell us about that. Did you hear the story about the woman who left her kids in a car just outside of a mall in Orlando, went inside, and then the car started on fire? Mall shoppers saw a car On fire Assisted to rescue the children Turns out that the mom A 24 year old Alicia Moore Left the kids unattended Went into a Dillard's department store To go shoplift

02:42:01 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes she was shoplifting Left her kids in the car And the car burst into flames

02:42:06 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

Is everybody okay? The kids are safe The kids are okay I think they I had to go to the hospital Because of some of the smoke inhalation the mom is being charged for this one the orlando police arrested the mom uh she is in custody she was actually uh had a warrant out for her arrest and she's going to be charged with both aggravated child neglect and then arson too which is wild that uh it's wild that that was what she was in the store doing just leaving her kids in the parking lot i've never been to yellowstone but i have always heard people say how great it is maybe this is

02:42:42 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 2:

02:42:48 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 1:

elk too that's a big thing and here's what's going on because of tiktok and everybody wanting to become social media famous they are warning people to stop interrupting the animals and stop just trying to get a selfie with them because what they're doing is causing harm to the animals Even some of the animals have had to be euthanized because of it.

02:43:12 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 4:

This morning, the beauty of Yellowstone National Park, from the views to the wildlife, leading some tourists to go too far for an all-too-important social media moment.

02:43:23 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 5:

Because of things like social media, a lot of people have lost a bit of common sense.

02:43:28 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 4:

Animal expert Jeff Corrin echoing the concern of park officials who say there's been a series of frightening close encounters at Yellowstone, including two tourists under investigation for grabbing a baby elk, putting it in their car and driving off. And last month, a man from Hawaii charged with intentionally disturbing wildlife after handling a newborn bison. Yellowstone Park rangers forced to euthanize the calf when they couldn't reunite it with the herd. If you're getting in the way, not only could you

02:43:57 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 5:

get injured, could the animal get injured or in trouble, but you're actually impeding or hurting

02:44:02 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 4:

their chances for survival. Videos like this also surfacing online. A Yellowstone tourist taking a selfie next to a bison and another video near Old Faithful showing a bison charging at a family. The father gored trying to save his son. The animal eventually scared off by someone appearing to be a park ranger spraying something to distract it. A statement from Yellowstone says some actions by visitors have led to the endangerment of people and wildlife and

02:44:30 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 5:

resulted in the death of wildlife you don't have a prayer and heck against a wild bison but all

02:44:36 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

those accidents are completely avoidable isn't that crazy so them touching it and trying to put it in their car i don't know what the hell they're thinking they're gonna do causes for the mom uh elk to not want the uh the elk back so they had to euthanize that child the elk or the baby elk um and uh last story here uh how would you like to go get a hot dog

02:45:00 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 5:

at Sonic and get a little extra special treat along with it. A Sonic employee in New Mexico was arrested after a bag of cocaine ended up on a customer's hot dog. The woman called police after biting into her food and noticing that she had bitten into a plastic bag that had believed to be cocaine. Surveillance footage showed the man making the woman's food and then frantically looking around for something that he lost. He actually lost it in the hot dog He was arrested and charged With possession of a controlled substance The lady, by the way, did actually bite into the food too Which is just crazy I have not ever eaten at a Sonic before

02:45:43 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 4:

Either have I, but I heard it so good

02:45:44 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 5:

02:45:54 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 5:

02:46:01 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yeah.

02:46:02 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 5:

The pebble is really good ice. And I don't know if they still do it, but the Sonic that opened by my house had lines so long. And I would go up there and they'd be like, welcome to Sonic, can I take your room? I'd go, yeah, can I get two bags of ice, please? And they actually would sell it, so I don't know if they still do that. But yeah, it's good ice. I heard they have slushies too, right? Or something, don't they?

02:46:20 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 4:
