WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:24 - 00:00:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:26 - 00:00:42 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:00:42 - 00:00:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:44 - 00:00:46 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:46 - 00:00:47 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:00:51 - 00:00:52 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:00:53 - 00:00:55 | Speaker 4:

It was pouring this morning on the way into work.

00:00:55 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 1:

My dogs took two steps outside and they were like, nope.

00:00:58 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 4:

Came right back in. We're just going to crap right in our house.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 1:

Probably.

00:01:02 - 00:01:03 | Speaker 5:

Quick weather question.

00:01:04 - 00:01:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:01:04 - 00:01:06 | Speaker 5:

The Canadian fires, this is still fires from last year.

00:01:07 - 00:01:49 | Speaker 4:

Or is this a new fire? No, these are new ones. Okay. Yeah. I believe that they put those fires out. But wasn't it, was it last year or two years ago? Two years? That the fires were. About two years. But I think it's a similar type of area. Like, I just think that they kind of have a lot of dry issues, which is funny because you would think that they get a lot of snow and stuff, but maybe it's the global warming thing. Could be. Greta Thornburg told us. We should have listened. And we're not listening to her. War of the Roses. War of the Roses this morning. A wife busted her husband on the ring cam with the maid in the library.

00:01:49 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 1:

In the study with the hatchet.

00:01:51 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I always liked it with the candle holder or whatever.

00:01:56 - 00:02:02 | Speaker 5:

I loved that game. Did you really play that game? I never played that game. What is that, Clue? Clue. Okay. Did you ever play that game? Nah.

00:02:03 - 00:02:04 | Speaker 4:

I never played it either.

00:02:04 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 5:

Colonel Mustard.

00:02:05 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 4:

I was a video game player, not a board game player, which, by the way, Switch 2 came out last night, the Nintendo Switch 2, which we'll have updates on this morning, and we'll have some Switch 2s to give away. Seriously? Yes. We will be giving them away. But I was never a Nintendo Switch guy either. I was a PlayStation. Well, no. Switch is new. My kids had them. No, I know, but my kids had them, and I would play them. You always look at me like I'm the guy who had no electricity and no fun. Do you know, first off, I had the original Nintendo. I believe you. Yes.

00:02:40 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 1:

He used to live in Greenfield Village. Did you know that?

00:02:45 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 4:

He donated a lot of that stuff. It took us a while to get there on our horse and buggy. But no, I was never a Nintendo Switch person because I always thought the Switch just seemed, to me, boring. Like, I'm not a big virtual person, too. Like, I want to sit down with my controller in my hand and do nothing. You know, eat and drink and stuff like that and play with my thumbs. I don't want to have to actually stand up and exercise or anything like that.

00:03:11 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 5:

The only reason I would really rock with the Nintendo Switch is for Mario Kart. Mario Kart is the game that I feel like you go get a Nintendo Switch for. Outside of that, I'm not with all the Zeldas, all that kind of Witches of Warcraft. I like sports games.

00:03:26 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 4:

I was only a big sports guy. I'd play Madden, or I'd play MLB, the show, or I'd play the NBA games.

00:03:34 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 1:

Were you ever into games, Shannon, like video games? I had the original Nintendo, and my sister and I loved playing Super Mario 3 on it. That was our thing. And then I got Sega as a gift. I was maybe into Sonic a little bit.

00:03:48 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 5:

Is it Sega or Sega? I mean, the real ones say Sega. Sega.

00:03:52 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 1:

Whatever you could tell. I was an avid gamer.

00:03:54 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 5:

I hear it.

00:03:54 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 1:

But my kids had Switches, but they don't really use them. I can't remember the last time they pulled them out.

00:04:03 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 4:

That's, by the way, the thing. You get your kids, they want the latest. You know, I want this thing.

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Lucy saved up her money to get a Switch.

00:04:10 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 4:

They'll play it nonstop for a while, and then they go and they don't play it anymore. And then they're just on their phones. Yeah, thanks. And then they go back to it. Like, Luke's now in a video game stage. I don't know what it was, because I don't think he played video games a lot when he was living in his fraternity house at Michigan State, but I think that this is his way of connecting still with his fraternity brothers, and they'll play on there, and I hear him swearing nonstop. What is he playing? He is playing, I think, I think it's one of the sports games. It might be Madden. Okay. So I think they're playing Madden, but they were playing, what the hell am I thinking? Call of Duty? Call of Duty.

00:04:49 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 5:

Because that's the one where kids start cussing at.

00:04:51 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:51 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 5:

Bruh, you put that in TikTok, you're going to see some crazy videos.

00:04:54 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

He swears nonstop with Madden, too. Like, you mother effer. Yeah. You know, whatever.

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 3:

you know like he's like swearing and stuff it's funny uh has uh smith or lucy gotten to the point where when they're playing games and they're playing against other people like online they

00:05:10 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 2:

don't they don't they don't do that but if you're going to ask about their language i mean yeah do they swear you were on the phone yesterday and smith said something i was

00:05:18 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 3:

swear because well smith i thought smith was very uh articulate and kind and nice other than flipping people off on your social media.

00:05:28 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Until we hung up with you and he's like, dumbass.

00:05:31 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Dumbass. He called me and told me.

00:05:32 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm just kidding. I'm kidding. But he does say all the words and then he looks at me. I'm like, you can't say that.

00:05:39 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 4:

But if they're using them properly, then you kind of got it.

00:05:41 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

The only game that they, so we don't even have a gaming system in our house, I don't think, unless Kieran has one in the dungeon basement that he lives in and never comes up from. But they do play Roblox with their stepbrother and stepsister, and that's it. But that's the only person they're allowed to play on there.

00:06:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

I never played Roblox, and I don't know how much. I don't think my kids ever played it. But does that game get violent every now and again?

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Roblox is a platform, and on the platform, there are like millions of games.

00:06:10 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's thousands of games.

00:06:12 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

Can you get violent with them like that? Yeah, they got some violent games on there. But you're playing with people from all around the world in some of these games. like the rooms are able to hold hundreds of people in there and they have like this close proximity where the closer you are to a person in the game you can hear their voice yeah so that's where you

00:06:27 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

start getting crazy i um i always thought it was weird when my kids would be playing video games and i'd i hear them talking and talking to people and i'd be thinking oh they're talking to their friends and i'd go in and they're talking to some probably 50 year old guy sitting in his underwear you know with like a tank top on or something like that in his belly button do you do you let uh josiah do any of that stuff just like josiah he's told me that that in some of these chat rooms

00:06:58 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 4:

like one guy got arrested for like that type of behavior oh yeah he got arrested for talking to kids or what he was like on the pedophile spectrum i don't know what he was but just i was like yeah ex-user or something something left the chat and everybody was talking about how he's like a

00:07:13 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 3:

How did they assume? Did they know it was a platform? This is like a real thing. Really?

00:07:18 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 4:

Just like I said, it's real.

00:07:19 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Especially on Roblox, you have to be so careful.

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Discord, all those type of joints.

00:07:23 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Anybody ever find their kid actually going out or meeting somebody? I'm assuming that these guys are all in Kansas. For some reason, I'm thinking. I always think Kansas, Florida is a good one too Utah Utah's a good one

00:07:47 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

Utah's a big one, all the Mormons

00:07:49 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

I feel like every guy that is in Oklahoma is just sitting there in front of their television masturbating or something

00:07:57 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

Wi-Fi is in Oklahoma

00:07:58 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Bit rate Can they give me some of that in my house? Because I'm dealing with that right now Texter here Texter says, I got the new Switch, got my Switch 2. It's awesome. I love how people are able to get them so fast and have them, like, the very first day. Because they say that there were lines of people lined up to go get these.

00:08:23 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 4:

I actually like that. Like, Grand River, I think it's a, where is it at? It's like Grand River near a Zap Zone. There's a Target over there, but there's a GameStop. And sometimes that GameStop has actual people in it. I know that sounds crazy with everybody buying things online. But to see actual people lined up at a GameStop for games is something nostalgic about that.

00:08:42 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

There's a GameStop next to my nail place. I've never seen one single person in there. Seriously. Never. Never, ever.

00:08:49 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

This is actually the time when those stores are the best, like having those stores for games. Somebody said that the new Mario Kart game is $89. There's a new one?

00:09:00 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 2:

Is that good or bad? That's insane. That's expensive. $89 is crazy.

00:09:03 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

They say there's, yeah, I think there's a game that comes with this Switch, too.

00:09:10 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 4:

Like when I was bundled type of things?

00:09:12 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hold on a second. Let me see. I think it's Mario Kart. Mario Kart World. Is that what it is?

00:09:19 - 00:09:19 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

Google it, yeah, it says $80.

00:09:23 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Crazy. there's a story that Shannon will play coming up in the dirty of a guy that stayed in line for 60 plus hours in order to get a switch to so he was in line for 60 plus hours you'll never guess what he does for a living nothing he's unemployed

00:09:44 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 4:

because he does nothing for a living he's a boss you can take off that bridge

00:09:48 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 3:

you can't even get nothing out of this guy

00:09:51 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 4:

have you ever waited in line for anything

00:09:53 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I think the only thing that I ever did In line ever In my entire life was imagine

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 8:

game back in the day and it was not tickets no never concert tickets even though that was actually

00:10:05 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 1:

a big one i remember i used to sleep in a sleeping bag outside of southland mall for instinct tickets for instinct backstreet boys hansen oh my god i can't believe my mom let me

00:10:12 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 8:

do that but overnight that's good i did that for shoes one time shoes were a big one actually i almost got in line i was visiting joe when he was in college in chicago and we almost got in line at the nike store for the brand new pair of jordans that were coming out and then i'm like no We've got to have somebody that we know. Jordan, what's up? Speaking of that, Jordan, what's going on?

00:10:33 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 6:

Okay, Mojo, be honest. Do you not play video games because Chelsea fears you'll become the 50-year-old man in your underwear?

00:10:42 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 8:

You know what, Jordan? You're actually true. Jordan, I don't know if you ever heard this, but you know when I stopped playing video games? When Luke was born. So when Luke was born, prior to that, every Friday night or Saturday night, I would say goodnight to my wife. She'd go to bed at like 9 o'clock. She was always in early to bed. I would stay up until 3, 4, sometimes 5 or 6 in the morning, and I would be there in front of the TV in my basement playing Madden. I would play nonstop for hours upon hours, and then finally she just said, you can't do this anymore. We got a baby. We got a baby. I know. Actually, no, and you know what's funny about this? There was one pizza place by my house. It was a Jets pizza that stayed open really late, and I would always order a pizza at midnight, and I would have a pizza delivered, and the guy would come to the door, and he would look at me, and I would, like, have my little, you know, headset on and stuff, and he'd go, what you playing? You want to come out? Can you imagine Chelsea waking up in the middle of the night, and it's me and the Jets pizza guy hanging out? together. You would. All right. Jordan, are you a video game player or no?

00:11:53 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 6:

Yes, and I just had a son, and I still play my video games, so you're more mature than I am, because I still play my video games all the time. Yeah.

00:12:04 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 8:

No, you got to pay attention to your kids, Jordan. You got to make sure.

00:12:08 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 6:

I don't play that way, though.

00:12:10 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Pay attention to your kids and not the strange kids that you're playing against. What's up, Craig? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on?

00:12:18 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 5:

hey what's up mojo first time long time what's happening hey hey so i uh we actually i went to the midnight release for the switch too with my 15 year old and my six year old because she wanted to go with us uh it was cool experiencing uh what what i did as a kid because i'm 35 uh so we used to go to all the halo and call of duties back in high school so they got a big kick out of it and

00:12:44 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 8:

the line was crazy so that's cool where was this at i was in toledo i'm in toledo that's a great by the way it is kind of cool to do it with your kids like it's one thing if you go do it by yourself but to let your kids and another generation of people just be able to experience

00:12:57 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

that yeah that's pretty awesome it was really cool there was i mean the group of all ages and like i said my six-year-old really i didn't want to take her just because it was midnight and she has a daycare i'm actually at work i've been here since 4 30 so it's gonna be a rough day well hey

00:13:11 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 8:

Are you excited to go home and play?

00:13:14 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, after all the updates, I'm sure that thing's going to want to do. But, yeah, I picked up a couple games with it, so it'll be pretty fun.

00:13:20 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 8:

Well, have fun. Let us know tomorrow how it is, all right?

00:13:23 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. Will do.

00:13:24 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 8:

Talk to you, buddy.

00:13:24 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 7:

Thanks, guys. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:13:30 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. This was a great year. This was the year that Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes. Remember how funny he was?

00:13:37 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 2:

My next presenter starred in Netflix's Bird Box, a movie where people survive by acting like they don't see a thing. Sort of like working for Harvey Weinstein.

00:13:48 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

You did it. I didn't. You did it.

00:13:50 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 8:

Sonic, the movie, was released.

00:13:53 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm Sonic, a little ball of super energy in an extremely handsome package.

00:13:58 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 7:

And the big song? Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:14:09 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 8:

Amanda, what year was that? It was 2020. There you go. Yeah, Amanda! 2020, you got tickets. You're going to see Halsey. Congratulations to you. Have the best time.

00:14:22 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

My absolute favorite.

00:14:24 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 8:

Oh, it's going to be great. We're going to get more tickets out before the show, and we also have tickets for Kendrick and SZA, which is next week, too. It's going to be a big week of concerts. Hang on the phone, okay?

00:14:34 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 7:

Thank you guys so much. Good morning, by the way. Good morning.

00:14:37 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 8:

Have a blessed day. Love you. Hope everybody's good today. Love you, too. Love you, too. All right. Your chance to win a brand-new car. Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas. 95th Caller, 844-MOJO-LIVE. 95th Caller, good luck.

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 7:

00:15:18 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 2:

The Diddy trial yesterday. A fashion designer by the name of Brianna Bunglin told the jury about a 2016 incident where Sean Combs allegedly dangled her over a 17th floor balcony and threatened her life.

00:15:32 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 3:

Harrowing testimony of fear and danger at the trial of Sean Combs where a friend of his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura told the jury Combs once dangled her over a 17-story balcony. Designer Brianna Bongolan joining the chorus of witnesses testifying that Combs was violent. He concedes he could be, but denies it was part of any sex trafficking or racketeering. In 2016, Bongolan said she was sleeping at Ventura's apartment when she woke to Combs shouting and banging on the door. On the balcony, she testified, Combs lifted me and then had me on top of the rail. For a split second, she said, I was thinking I was going to fall. She claimed Combs pulled her over the rail and threw her onto furniture. I had a bruise on the back of my leg and back and neck pain, Bongolan testified. I had night terrors, paranoia, and I scream in my sleep sometimes. Another time Bongolan testified, Combs came up really close to my face and said something like, I'm the devil and I could kill you. Combs denies the claims and the defense tried to hammer inconsistencies between Bongolan's testimony and her 2024 civil lawsuit and Bongolan admitted on cross-examination she and Cassie Ventura had a drug problem. Combs denies all the charges. The jury could begin hearing from another alleged victim, a woman testifying under the pseudonym Jane. Aaron Katursky, ABC.

00:16:49 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 5:

All right, so we talked about this yesterday. I don't know if we talked about it on the air or off the air, but Jane, we don't know who Jane is. We'll figure out who it is. But why are we not heard from Aubrey O'Day from Jane of the Cain?

00:17:02 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 2:

That is a great question because she had a lot to say.

00:17:06 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 6:

For years.

00:17:07 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 2:

For years, and it makes me nervous that maybe she got paid off to not say anything.

00:17:14 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 6:

That would be shocking. Because for years she's maintained that I have something to say and nothing will stop me. No one's listening. I would be shocked if she got money to be quiet.

00:17:25 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 2:

I feel like there are a lot of people that we could put in that category, including some individuals in law enforcement who probably should be on that witness stand and are not.

00:17:36 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 5:

And I don't know why. And that's where we always keep thinking.

00:17:40 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 2:

And I say that with off the record knowledge of some things that have happened.

00:17:43 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Shannon's got a source, by the way, that's an amazing source that she's not going to reveal for protection of that person that says that the cops are really complicit in a lot of the stuff that Diddy did. So, yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens here, because as of right now, there are a lot of legal experts that are saying we don't see enough to keep this guy in prison for the rest of his life.

00:18:07 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 2:

But when does the prosecution wrap? Pretty soon. They've been going at it for a while. Yeah, yeah, pretty soon. Leah Remini and J-Lo are back to be in besties after a period of not even being on speaking terms with one another. The two had this big falling out in 2022 over Leah's concerns about J-Lo's relationship with Ben Affleck. I guess she was trying to just be a good friend and warned J-Lo that he had all sorts of commitment issues, among other issues, leading to some tension between the friends. In fact, Leah Remini wasn't even at J. Lo and Ben's wedding that same year. Well, they both get divorced, right, a year or two later. Now the two have reconnected and are back to being really close friends. And lastly, a big update on a local turned national story. One of those two Chinese nationals accused of smuggling that fungus, which is a potential agro-terrorism weapon, into the United States, will appear in court today. And she is facing up to 20 years in prison.

00:19:07 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 4:

The fungus, Fusarium graminiarum, targets crops such as wheat, barley, maize, and rice, causing billions in damage worldwide each year.

00:19:15 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 1:

A fungus such as this could be used to damage our agricultural industry, infect our food supply, impact our economy, and harm large numbers of people.

00:19:25 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

The pathogen can cause vomiting, liver damage, and birth defects in humans. Officials say last July, one of the suspects, Zeng Yong Liu, was caught with the fungus hidden in his luggage at the Detroit airport. Officials say they found this round piece of filter paper with a series of circles drawn on it and four clear plastic baggies with small clumps of a reddish plant material inside. The Justice Department says Jung Young initially lied, but later admitted smuggling the fungus to conduct research on it at the University of Michigan with his girlfriend, Young Chin Jin.

00:20:00 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 3:

Young Chin's electronics allegedly had information about loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party.

00:20:05 - 00:20:16 | Speaker 1:

You had a member of the Communist Party who had a Chinese researcher working for her in a U.S. university on a pathogen that is known to be deadly to crops and to human beings.

00:20:16 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 3:

This is crazy to think that this happened at the Detroit airport and at the University of Michigan.

00:20:22 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 4:

And again, this is not a situation if you randomly have heard this story of, oops, I didn't know. This seems very, very planned, very strategic.

00:20:31 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Kind of scary. Yeah. I am interested to see what kind of security is there at the court because you've got to think that the Chinese government is going to try to get these two back. Because if they're on the payroll of the Chinese government, they're considered to be, what, spies possibly? Yeah. And it would be interesting to see if they're going to a federal court, which is probably right down here by where we're at. in Detroit. We were just talking about the former president, Ono, who was up for that job in Florida. And now he's not. That's what happened there, I guess, what the University of Florida or the Florida regents there denied him the opportunity.

00:21:11 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 1:

They blocked him.

00:21:11 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 3:

And a lot of people wonder if, I don't know. I don't know how there could be a connection, but that would be interesting to see. Well, I mean, to your point, this dates back to January.

00:21:23 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was still president around that time. All right, for all of today's Dirty, catch up on anything you've missed. You can listen to the podcast. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:23:04 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 4:

If I have a lot of something, like Kieran, my stepson's graduation party invitations, I drop them off at my local post office. Nothing is getting delivered. In fact, my family and friends are just getting the Valentine's Day cards, Valentine's Day cards that I dropped off in February. What's happening? I have no clue, but we're asking people to RSVP for his grad party, which is happening in two weeks and everyone's like we never got an invitation isn't that crazy

00:23:30 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 3:

i hate the evite thing i want i mean if your mail is gonna take three months to get there

00:23:35 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 4:

that's what we're having to do now because we need accounts for food but i wonder if there's

00:23:41 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 3:

something just with that local post office everything's got to just be sitting in a bin it's crazy in the back see i i feel like the one by me actually does a good job the only problem is when you've got to go in there, I feel like you're in there for a while because there's, like, one guy working behind the counter. So, all right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.

Lady cheating coming up here in a second. I know you don't, though, Rhonda, right?

00:25:05 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 2:

I mean, is he a rich old man? I mean, I think it's a little bit of a difference.

00:25:09 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if he's going to die soon, I'll cheat with him.

00:25:11 - 00:25:14 | Speaker 2:

Right, right, right, right. There you go.

00:25:14 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 1:

The National Basketball Association.

00:28:02 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 1:

00:28:18 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 1:

Three to three.

00:28:39 - 00:28:40 | Speaker 1:

Did he say B, bring them out?

00:28:41 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but he got the song right.

00:28:42 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 1:

00:29:00 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 1:

The only one that Rhonda missed, Coldplay. And question number five, Britney Spears fans are outraged over the price of her new Balenciaga collab merch. What's the name of Britney's first hit song? Three seconds.

00:29:15 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 2:

00:29:24 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 1:

It's going to take a perfect score, and it's going to take him missing something, or it's going to take a kid screaming from the other room. I mean, it's going to take something. This guy's going to get 15 tomorrow, I think. He's rolling. Congratulations to you, Josh. Good win.

00:29:39 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. Good job, Rhonda. Thank you. Congrats. Nope, it was fun. I enjoyed it. I told my kids, a dream come true. Oh, come on, really?

00:29:49 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 1:

Are you serious?

00:29:51 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was like, I'm doing it on the radio.

00:29:53 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

That's so flattering. I love it. By the way, what mom doesn't relate to hiding in a bathroom to get away from your screaming kids?

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 2:

That's like a mom thing, isn't it?

00:30:01 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes, that's what I'm doing right now. And she's yelling, get me some grapes.

00:30:07 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 2:

What time do those kids wake up? Are they still going to school?

00:30:11 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she went to bed early. Well, she got out earlier than everybody else. But, yeah, she went to bed so early last night. It was like, yeah, she was a terror yesterday. So I think she gave up.

00:30:21 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Well, here's the deal. We got a gift card to Panda Express. Congratulations. Enjoy that. Thanks for being on with us, Rhonda. Josh, see you tomorrow, buddy.

00:30:31 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations.

00:30:42 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 2:

One stupid show.

00:30:44 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 6:

This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

00:30:49 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Let's get to the War of the Roses before anybody calls and complains. We always got the complaint lines of, you're late. War of the Roses, busting cheaters here. If you think that somebody's cheating, text cheater to 95500.

00:31:03 - 00:31:09 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:31:10 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 2:

Sandra, who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with?

00:31:16 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 5:

I think it's our cleaning lady.

00:31:20 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 2:

So you have somebody that comes and cleans your house?

00:31:23 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 5:

yeah i hired her like maybe six months ago or so i mean she's supposed to come once a week um but lately she's been coming over and she doesn't tell me and she's there at times when

00:31:38 - 00:31:43 | Speaker 2:

she's not scheduled to be there well is he there when she's cleaning

00:31:43 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 5:

uh well coincidentally it's on the days when he's working from home and the only reason i even know is because I see her coming on the rink camera. Did you ask him or did you ask her what she's doing? Yeah, and they both were full of excuses and different things and none of it adds up or makes any sense.

00:32:07 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 2:

So when she comes over to the house on the days that she is not supposed to be there cleaning up, is your house clean? I mean, is she cleaning and is she charging you for coming?

00:32:22 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm not paying her and I think the house is as clean as it should be for the fact that we're

00:32:28 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 1:

getting it cleaned once a week. Have you ever seen them interact with one another or is your suspicion only because you've seen her at your house on a ring cam on days where she technically

00:32:39 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 5:

isn't scheduled? Yeah just the ring camera I've never been like the three of us have never been there at the same time where I can kind of see what they're like together I guess.

00:32:50 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 4:

I mean, the weird thing to me is that they both had no explanation. That right off the bat is the biggest red flag.

00:32:58 - 00:33:28 | Speaker 2:

Why don't we do this? We came up with the idea of doing a three-way call where we're going to try to call both of them up. Why don't we let that call happen and see what's going on? Because we'll see if they do communicate with each other just by the reaction that they have to, you know, thinking that each other called them when we do these three-way calls. So hang on the phone for a second, mute your phone, and we're going to dial both of their numbers up at the same time and see what they sound like when they're talking.

00:33:45 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:33:46 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 6:

hello hello hello hello hello

00:34:03 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 5:

sorry can you hear me yeah yeah what's up sorry i don't recognize your number for some reason who

00:34:14 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 6:

is this? You called me, I mean, this is, you called me, this is Liam. I called you? No,

00:34:23 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 5:

it looks like you actually called me. It's Liam? No, I, yeah. Hey, what's up? Oh, that is so weird. I don't know why your phone number, like obviously have you saved. That's so weird. But anyway, you called me. I got a call from you, I swear. No, I swear I got but um all right well hello i don't know what's in the atmosphere today okay yeah

00:34:47 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 6:

something's bringing us together i guess so uh what's that are you still you're still coming

00:34:53 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 5:

right i tell you all the time you're my favorite client i was actually so funny i think

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 4:

there is something going on because I was just thinking about you.

00:35:03 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Oh, really? What's up?

00:35:05 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what am I?

00:35:08 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 3:

What do I do this time in your subconscious?

00:35:12 - 00:35:14 | Speaker 4:

Or maybe it's what...

00:35:16 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'll be working from home this week again, so hoping you make your appointment, you know? Are you going to be there?

00:35:30 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 1:

Liam

00:35:32 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 3:

yes who's this

00:35:35 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 1:

Liam this is the mojo in the morning show and we were calling you up and also calling up Allison to see what you guys sounded like talking to each other but Allison's phone was obviously all messed up you could hear the phone kind of crackling and it ended up disconnecting But what were you meaning by what you just said just a second ago?

00:36:08 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. Who am I taught you? So you're Mojo in the Morning, like a radio show Mojo in the Morning?

00:36:14 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning. We're a radio show. And we were doing a thing called The War of the Roses. And it was a call that we made to you and made to Allison because your wife Sandra is on the phone and thinks that there's something going on between you and her. And he's done. We can't control the phone and we can't control what her phone sounds like. Obviously, the moment that it started crackling, I'm thinking to myself, what's going on? Where is it coming from? Because I didn't know if it was her phone or his phone. But Sandra, you could hear the conversation between the two of those guys.

00:36:58 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 4:

They talk all the time.

00:36:59 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

00:36:59 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 4:

You can tell.

00:37:02 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 1:

I mean, she acted in the beginning like she didn't know who it was, and that's the only reason why she didn't get friendly in the beginning. She didn't have any clue because it shows up as an unidentified call calling her.

00:37:15 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 4:

I have no doubt that there's something there.

00:37:20 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't want this to come off any kind of way, but are you and him around the same age? No, I'm much older, about 12 years older. Is the woman that's clean in the house, is she more around his age? She is.

00:37:40 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 1:

So you think that there's...

00:37:42 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 2:

He sounds young.

00:37:43 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And listen, I think you're young too, but obviously it seems like they're definitely sounding like they have some kind of a connection with each other. Hang on one second and let's have conversation more, okay?

00:37:58 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Yo, yo, what? This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:16 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. busting a cheater a husband cheating with the lady who cleans their house the maid and uh the situation that you just heard with a three-way call got kind of interesting a lot of people are like what happened what happened well the phone line obviously was not a great line you could hear kind of the static that was on there when we called the maid and um and she got disconnected and trying to make some calls here to get them on. Sandra, when you bring somebody into your house, obviously you don't want them stealing from you. And that's not just your personal items. I mean, that's your spouse, your husband. Yeah. How trustworthy are you normally at letting somebody come in your house and just being there, you know, with, you know, especially another woman with your, your husband?

00:39:18 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I guess, you know, I'm very social. I do have a very open home. I think what is the worst part of this whole thing is that I actually have, I trust my husband. I have trusted my husband. I never thought about him being alone at home with the cleaning lady. I mean, she's one thing like do i want to beat her ass absolutely in this moment but him like he's my husband how the f*** could he do this to me so i have a question for you when you mean when you would correspond with her it was just it was you doing all the scheduling and stuff he never had any part in that yeah initially i'm the one that hired her and picked her and right

00:40:00 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 3:

So that's where I'm going to is he, it didn't seem weird that she was calling that she already has his phone number and he had her phone number. Do you know what I mean? So somewhere along the line, they, they on the side exchanged phone numbers.

00:40:16 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 2:

Can I bring up something that's a little touchy? And Kev pointed this out when we made the phone call. Has the age difference between the two of you ever been something that you worried about?

00:40:29 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 6:

Never. I mean, maybe, maybe when we first started dating, you know, I think that that's kind of like something you think about in the very beginning, but I'm, I'm confident we've had a great relationship. We have a great sex life. We, I mean, there, there is nothing that would ever make me think.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 2:

You've never seen him look at or talk to, uh, women that are younger than you.

00:40:52 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 6:

Not that I'm aware of. Not that as ever. I, I, I, yeah, no.

00:40:58 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

Do you know, prior to your relationship, if he only dated women that were older than him, or are you his first cougar?

00:41:13 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 6:

I think he's dated, you know, in various age ranges. Maybe I'm one of the older women.

00:41:23 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

We tried to call her back a bunch of times so that the listeners know, and we tried to call him back, and we're not getting anything. Hang on one second, okay, Sandra?

00:41:33 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:41:37 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 2:

I guess I'm looking at texts right now. And, Jennifer, I think you text in about the who hired one, right? That was yours. Jennifer?

00:41:49 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

00:41:51 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:41:51 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's my quote. Sorry, I had a breath on. Just read in the gym.

00:41:54 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, was that a big weight that just went down at that moment? That was like a big slam.

00:42:00 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 7:

That was the door.

00:42:01 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that was the door. Yeah.

00:42:03 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 7:

No, well, my question is, like, who found her and who hired her? Was it her or him?

00:42:07 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 2:

She just answered that. We just talked to her. Yeah.

00:42:09 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 3:

She was the only one that would ever correspond with her.

00:42:12 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 7:

Oh, see? Yeah, because that was my question. See, that's why you don't hire a cute nanny. You don't hire one with a bubbly... I don't even want a nanny or a housekeeper to speak the same language. I'll show her where the stuff is. No, no. And, yes, what's her name? Sandra? You need to beat her ass.

00:42:28 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I will say this to you, that this is one of those situations where a ring camera again busts somebody. And I don't know how you think you're not going to get caught when you see on the camera that you're coming over on a day that you're not supposed to be there. And also, my wife just texted and said, can I please have the name of the cleaning lady, any cleaning lady that wants to come on more days than she normally comes?

00:42:52 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

No, she wouldn't say that. We like what we got here. Hold on a second. Hold on. George, where's George? Is George there? Hi, George.

00:43:02 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 2:

Yes, sir. Hi, Mojo. George, you think...

00:43:05 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 5:

Four red flags?

00:43:06 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:43:07 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 5:

Four red flags I saw, Mojo. Go ahead.

00:43:08 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 2:

I'll count them.

00:43:09 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 5:

Four. He got her, they swapped numbers. Soon her voice changed, soon she realized who he was. And the other one where right away she said to him, oh, I was just thinking about you. And his voice changed right away all like, oh, yeah? When are you coming over? Like, that was all red flags. And what was number four? You just did three. Oh, I'm sorry. Number four was soon as she showed up when she wasn't supposed to. And it was on a weekend. They didn't have an excuse why they showed up.

00:43:42 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 2:

George, what do you think about the age difference?

00:43:46 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 5:

It doesn't matter. I'm married. My wife, for me, is eight years apart, and I'm the older guy. I've never had a problem with younger guys trying to go after her.

00:43:53 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She said 10 years. 10 years, eight years, potato, patata. But I think that it's one of those situations where you hear, and I don't know what she looks like, and I'm asking Lydia to get for me, if she can, her Facebook page because I want to see what she looks like. because they do sound drastically different in age. And, Kevin, that was a good point, I think, to bring up, that sometimes if somebody is in a relationship where there is a drastic difference in age or a difference in how you are...

00:44:25 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 5:

Especially when it comes to women, the mojo. When women are the older, the guys want to go for the younger. Well, that's what I'm wondering.

00:44:33 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 2:

You know what, George, that's exactly where I'm going on this one here. You'd probably see women who are the younger ones cheating less with the older guys than you do seeing guys who are the younger ones cheating because they're with an older woman.

00:44:47 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 3:

And this was so easy for him, proximity. She was there all the time, and he was home. And nobody else was home.

00:44:52 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I wonder how long they've been together, too.

00:44:54 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Rob, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:45:03 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all I had to say was I think a lot of times people call in and they're unsure, but I think she already knew what was going to come of this, and I hope with the closure she got from it, she can kind of make her decision about moving on.

00:45:16 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a good point. It's really nice of you to say. You kind of hope that she at least can get even more answers to this, though. I can tell you this. Yeah, I hope. That's the last time Allison's cleaning that house, so. Right. Especially if she did a good job. Same loser. You know what's funny? You'd almost rather lose your spouse. You know, he's probably more able to be lost than the lady cleaning your house. What's up, Angela? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. Want to make a comment?

00:45:52 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, hey, how's it going? I just have a comment for the lady that's a little bit older, and I feel so terribly bad saying this, But I just recently divorced my husband, and he was 17 years older than me. We were together for 20 years.

00:46:06 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 3:

What was it? Did you find a younger guy?

00:46:10 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 6:

No, I didn't, actually. It wasn't even about that for me. But the age difference did play a big factor in it because he was older and I was younger. His friends were older. Mine were younger. He didn't want to hang out with them. They didn't want to hang out with him. So it conflicted everything. So when I just got tired of it, I just was tired of it. And now that I'm free from that, I feel a little bit better and I want to be around people my age. And I'm sorry to, like, say it to her like that, but that's honestly what it is. How old were you when you guys met?

00:46:43 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 7:

I was 18 and he was 35.

00:46:46 - 00:46:47 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:46:47 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Being 35 with an 18-year-old and then being 55 with a 35-year-old is completely different. Yeah. like the conversations at that time like what are y'all relating you know what i mean he probably

00:46:59 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 6:

doesn't want to go out as much it was just one accident and we took care of our accidents together for a long time you know what i mean so we took care of our responsibility together our relationship was kind of weird too because i don't feel like i was ever really in love with them i was just we were just together because we were taking care of our responsibility but i never cheated on him i was loyal to him i worked my ass off we did a lot together our kids are almost grown um so you know after my divorce i got the wrong end of it but i mean i'm happy with the outcome but i'm telling you it really was the age difference and there was just something

00:47:31 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 3:

going on where what age range are you dating now angela oh my gosh people are weird

00:47:38 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 7:

answer the question i'm telling you 38 and 42 that is it that's it so her age you're dating

00:47:46 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Dating your age. Don't be messing with the older dudes anymore, Angela. Even though older guys can go longer than younger guys can.

00:47:57 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 7:

Ah, you wish.

00:48:02 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 3:

She's talking to my wife.

00:48:03 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 7:

Thank you very much for having a wonderful day.

00:48:05 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 3:

They got bills and stuff now, you know? Christina, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:11 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. First time, long time. Hey there, Christina on the phone. I don't know if anybody else caught it, but the husband mentioned something about, are you coming over for your appointment? Like kind of like sly, like it was code for something. So to me, there's definitely something going on.

00:48:32 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what I mean when I said, too, you could tell that they talk to each other a lot. Like there's that inside joke as just an example.

00:48:39 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 3:

And he also gave his work schedule, too. He also said that he was going to be working from the house. So what does that have to do with anything? What's up, Alyssa?

00:48:50 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:48:51 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 3:

Hi. You can speak now. Go ahead. What's going on?

00:48:57 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 5:

I'm in a 17-year-age gap marriage. My husband's 17 years older than me, and my motto has always been, if you can take them, you can have them.

00:49:07 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 4:

I feel it out. I like that.

00:49:09 - 00:49:19 | Speaker 3:

I feel it out. Yeah, it's kind of like, you know, when you leave stuff at the curb that you want somebody just to grab. Please pick it up. That's your guy, right? Is that what you're saying?

00:49:19 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 5:

Yep. Yep.

00:49:21 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, take care of yourself. Thank you. All right. Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. Could you ever see yourself with a 17-year younger woman or older woman?

00:49:33 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 4:

I just feel like those experiences can only last for so long. I feel like that has an expiration date. Unless you find that one that's true love.

00:49:43 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 2:

That's the high school girl for you right now, by the way.

00:49:44 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, let's put that in there.

00:49:46 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So the answer's a big no. I think I would rather 17 years older than younger. I would rather the older one just because the knowledge you get out of the whole deal. They're not a mentor. No, but I, but, and also I feel like you've been. through there through everything the younger one if you're with somebody that's 17 to 20 years younger than you i feel like you're always having to almost parent them too and i just don't know

00:50:08 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 4:

if i'd want to do that just feel like that energy that they have at that time like that's why when a girl said she was 18 or whatever he was 35 like you still have some energy at that time yeah 20 years from there you're not gonna be that same person yeah you're now all of a sudden

00:50:22 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:50:58 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 3:

We're going to do the dirty. What's happening in the Dirty on the 30, Shannon?

00:51:01 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 1:

I want to start off the dirty with a shout-out to my buddy Harper. This is Harper's last week of school. She injured herself and can't go to her end of the roller skating party today, and she's super bummed about it. So I just want to tell you, you hang in there, girlfriend. Okay? I know a lot of listeners stood in line last night for the new Switch, the Switch 2. Well, listen to how long this guy waited.

00:51:23 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 4:

Three, two, one.

00:51:25 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 2:

Overnight, video game fans lining up for hours for the release of the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Some lining up for days, even months. Hey y'all, it's your boy, Chicken Dog. It's day 60, waiting for Nintendo Switch 2.

00:51:43 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Wait, his name is Chicken Dog? Chicken Dog. Yeah, Chicken Dog.

00:51:47 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 2:

Never felt more unemployed in my life, but it's good timing, I guess. The hype for the new video game console was Donkey Kong size. Pre-orders sold out in minutes back in April. Those who couldn't snag one then were happy to wait in line to get their hands on the new tech. The Switch 2 packs a sharper screen, better graphics, and a new feature, allowing gamers to chat with friends with the push of a button. And launching with the Switch, Mario Kart World. The classic series now allows 24 players to race each other all at once.

00:52:20 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 4:

It's really fun being out here, talking to these people. School is out. I don't got nothing else to do.

00:52:25 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 2:

The console retails for $449.99. And some new games, including Mario Kart, will cost a whopping $80. But those prices aren't likely to keep gamers away. Nintendo is expecting to sell 15 million Switch 2s over the next year. Holy cow. That's unreal.

00:52:44 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is an interesting time to release it, too. I don't know if this is normal. you release it in june usually it's always seems it always seems like it's closer to the holidays

00:52:54 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 1:

when it gets kind of crazy but i feel like this is smart and it was mentioned in that clip of school is out it's something for people to do for the summer yeah all right dakota johnson and coldplay frontman chris martin have called it quits after eight years together they started dating in 2017 they've been very on again off again pretty frequently but a source telling me It feels final this time. They've been engaged for years. They never got married, which I always think is, you know, you kind of raise your eyebrows at. So they're done.

00:53:26 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 3:

He doesn't seem like he's the I'm getting remarried kind of guy.

00:53:29 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 1:

See, I disagree with you.

00:53:30 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Chris Martin, you think is? Really? You think she's the one that didn't want to get married?

00:53:33 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what happened. I loved them as a couple, but something. Britney Spears has teamed up with luxury fashion brand Balenciaga for some limited edition merch. part of the brand's Exactitude Spring 2026 collection. This collab includes stuff like oversized hoodies with a price tag of $1,600, studded baseball caps, price tag $1,200, and cropped graphic tees, price tag on those $795 for a t-shirt. All of them feature Britney's autograph. This collection's important not only because it includes Britney, but it's also Balenciaga's creative director's last hurrah before she makes the transition to Gucci here next month. So, Brittany's been really vocal about how excited she is for this collaboration, but all of her fans are like, well, what in the actual heck? Nobody can afford any of these items. I saw one person commenting, I was excited until I saw the $1,250 price tag for a hat. Seriously? Another, this feels more like a cash grab than a tribute to her fans.

00:54:36 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

I always find it interesting when a t-shirt is that expensive, and I've done it once and made the biggest mistake. I bought a really expensive couple hundred dollar t-shirt, and I think it was because I lost weight and I could fit into it, and I was really excited over the fact.

00:54:52 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 1:

I remember when you bought that.

00:54:54 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, all I can say is this. It's just a t-shirt. It washes the same. It literally is a t-shirt.

00:55:00 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 2:

t-shirt and you know i like expensive jeans are one thing like at least they're jeans and you can wear them every single day a t-shirt that is that expensive you can't wear it every single day because people know you're wearing the same t-shirt every single day right like i don't get it a little

00:55:17 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 4:

bit more of an expensive jean is a good investment you wear multiple multiple times well and i hear

00:55:21 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 2:

people talk all the time about you know they try to justify like the price of uh you know handbags like purses and stuff that are expensive and they'll justify well you use it every single day yeah it's true uh you know but then it's kind of interesting is it is it really made that much

00:55:39 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 4:

better like is a balenciaga shirt that much when it comes to t-shirts or a baseball hat no there's

00:55:46 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 2:

no way no that's crazy you're paying for that you know how much it's gonna cost i don't know

00:55:51 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 3:

why people are so astonished at the price tag but it's why but it's wild to see though the people

00:55:57 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 2:

that are going out and buying these on a regular basis and I'm going, where are they getting the money for it? In PPO loans. Is that what it is?

00:56:05 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 3:

But why Britney Spears? That's so random. Does she move units? It's so weird. Is she ever sold fashion? I know, yeah.

00:56:11 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Shaquille O'Neal making an appearance on this week's episode of the New Heights Podcast talking about meeting Travis Kelsey's girlfriend for the first time at this year's Super Bowl and he's a little bit of a swiftie. I don't even need to see the edit. This is probably one of the best episodes we've ever done. We didn't do nothing. That's my favorite song in the world, brother.

00:56:40 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 3:

You didn't know it. Just got that song back, too.

00:56:45 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Just bought all the music back, so it finally hurts, too, man. I appreciate that, dog.

00:56:49 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys. There you go.

00:56:50 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 4:

That's his favorite song, by the way. Everybody, let's do it. Travis and Taylor spotted out on a dinner date in Palm Beach last night, so still very much together.

00:56:59 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 2:

I don't believe him. You don't believe? Hell no. That's his favorite song? Hell no. I believe it.

00:57:04 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 3:

I feel like some people just be trying to ride the Taylor Swift wave because it's a wave. See, I can't picture

00:57:09 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 2:

Shaq dancing to that song.

00:57:11 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 3:

Maybe once in a while. It's catchy.

00:57:13 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 2:

His favorite, though?

00:57:14 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Sounds like you're pandering.

00:57:17 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 4:

Maybe he meant favorite Taylor song.

00:57:20 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Maybe. Maybe. I like Cruel Summer.

00:57:23 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 4:

00:58:29 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 3:

00:58:30 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hold on one sec. It's Mojo in the morning. I just want to quickly just get into this just for a second, and I won't stay on it too long because we've got a lot to get to. But can I wage a Mojo complaint? This is a Mojo Minute. All right, let's go. Let's go. You know, I'd like to complain about what happened to me last night at 7 o'clock at night, okay? 7 o'clock at night, just chilling out, getting ready to watch some hockey and some baseball that were on TV. My doorbell rings, and I look outside, and there are two guys probably, I'm guessing, in their 20s or 30s, I don't know, on what looked like, what are those little scooter things that ride by them that you stand on and they just move? They don't have a handlebar or anything like that. They're just like a little scooter.

00:59:21 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, like a one wheel?

00:59:22 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 2:

It's got a wheel in the middle of it? It looks like a skateboard? It's crazy. They were on these electric things where they kind of lean forward and they ride. Or hoverboards or something. Yeah. I don't know. And they're trying to sell me pest control. And I don't know if you have this in your neighborhood, but I've had this in my neighborhood. It seems like every year where there's the door to door guy trying to sell the pest control and the guy won't leave. And it's one of those things where I should have just let my ring camera just, you know, go and just leave them there and not do it. But I figured I'm going to answer the door and I'm going to, you know, see what these guys are all about for about a second. So here they are. You can see them on my ring cam. Look at these guys. This is what they look like. All right. These are the guys kind of hanging out. You see them wearing baseball hats, shorts.

01:00:09 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 1:

Clearly not Mormons.

01:00:11 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 5:

Are those logoed? I can't see because of the shadow. Like, are they official hats and shirts and stuff?

01:00:17 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 1:

It's too late for that. They always say, we do the neighbor's house.

01:00:29 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

and you're like, all right, what neighbor do you do? Name the neighbor. They're like, Jen. I'm like, oh, where does Jen live? And they always point down the street. Jen's down there. And they always tell you they do this thing. Can somebody please tell me if you've ever, A, gone with their pest control stuff, or B, felt like you were actually getting a good deal by talking to these guys? I feel like these guys, honestly, have some kind of a scam going on, and I don't understand it. And I will say this to you. Chelsea and I have a pest control company that comes and does our pest control. I don't know what the name of it is. I have no clue. Chelsea does. But we already have somebody that does, you know, any kind of things. You know, we got ants now. There's ants all over the place nowadays. So we got ants coming. But I don't want to buy your pest control. If I want to buy your pest control, let me just go and Google. I don't want to have the guy interrupt my 7 o'clock at night time that I'm sitting on my couch.

01:01:22 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 1:

I need your truck to have a big roach on it, first and foremost. Even for me to, like, feel like you're the one.

01:01:28 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 2:

Like the roach that's on the top of the thing.

01:01:30 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like I need a super bug on yours.

01:01:31 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

It looks like, what's his name? Ant-Man from the movie, right?

01:01:36 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 1:

And I need you to show up before 7 p.m.

01:01:38 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:01:39 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 5:

I know that does make me a little nervous the later it gets. But we just had it recently where, so our neighborhood has signs everywhere that says no soliciting. So if somebody comes to the door, unless it's a kid, like the infamous Augustus Gloop Boy Scout who was selling all the firewood for all those years. I don't know what happened to him. Please come back this year, by the way. I need to buy some wood from you. But unless it's a kid, you know that it's shady because the signs are everywhere. You can't miss them. And then people have them posted on their front porches or whatever as well. So a couple of months ago, these two dudes show up at the front porch. I'm like, God dang it. It's so annoying. You clearly know you're not supposed to be doing this. And they were adults. So it wasn't like they were Boy Scouts or selling something for school. So I go out. I'm clearly irritated at this point. And then I realized there are actually two guys from my neighborhood trying to get everybody on board to like oppose this road road thing and the funny thing is i was so grouchy when i first went out there i called wes out with me you know and now we're like really good friends with that but i thought they were trying to sell me something at first the interesting thing

01:02:40 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 2:

compared to augustus gloop that's selling the wood these guys were actually two good-looking guys like i was i was looking at so they were here you go they were can i tell you something

01:02:50 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 5:

i am more these guys were guys my door for good-looking guys versus like some of them look

01:02:56 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 2:

a little shady. Lydia and Bianca would date these guys. That's how good looking these guys are. And I'm looking at these two guys going, oh, okay, I can safely think that they're not going to kill me. Rob me. They had teeth and they looked like they were... Did you say, do you want a new job?

01:03:14 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 5:

Come to the radio station on Friday, June 20th for our open audition. Would you like to be

01:03:18 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

a sidekick on the Mojo in the Morning Show? Jackie, what's up with these people coming to our door trying to sell us pest control?

01:03:24 - 01:03:50 | Speaker 4:

man it was terrible last night they would not leave you had the same ones huh yes and i know what the little like hoverboard type thing yeah it's like paul blart mall cop yeah right hand control things yeah dude would not leave and he wanted to talk to me about pest control and of course it was the neighbors down the street who suggested they come hang out and

01:03:50 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 2:

ask other people down the street hey jackie did he do the whole thing when you said you're done you're good he goes well let me demonstrate did they try to do the demonstration for you

01:03:59 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 4:

how do you demonstrate that right around the same time that he started with that i decided just to

01:04:05 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 2:

let the dogs out yeah that's smart but you must have big dogs my dogs like them my dogs actually

01:04:11 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 4:

were trying to go home with them yeah yeah i have the yappy i'm gonna bark at you all day

01:04:16 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 2:

and not actually bite you i actually what i should do is i should say hey if you take my dogs for an hour walk and bring them back i will buy pest control from you uh because they need to go out and go to the bathroom uh rosie what's happening hi good morning what's going on rosie

01:04:33 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 3:

um so it wasn't the pest people but i did have a salesperson come to my door once and i let them do their whole skit i was going to give them their time but then they did me wrong and signed me up when I didn't sign up, and I had to take them to court.

01:04:47 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. So they actually got you to look like you signed up?

01:04:53 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes, they did. But I got them really good because they signed under my brother's name instead of mine. So I showed the court.

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 8:

This is a girl's handwriting. My brother don't even live here no more.

01:05:03 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

01:05:04 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 8:

They just threw the name on there.

01:05:06 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 7:

That's wild. They had information about us. I was surprised that they did. I don't know where they go and buy their stuff from. But, Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:05:15 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 9:

Hey, good morning.

01:05:16 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

01:05:18 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 9:

So, my husband, he's the biggest softie. Every single person that comes to the door, he will sign up for whatever they are telling.

01:05:29 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 7:

He's a sucker, huh?

01:05:32 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 9:

He's a total sucker. You need new windows? Well, no, we don't. But you can come in and give us a quote. Oh, gosh.

01:05:40 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 6:

Is he the timeshare guy that falls for it on every vacation you go to?

01:05:45 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 9:

Yes. On our honeymoon, we spent the first whole day of our honeymoon sitting through a conversation.

01:05:52 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 7:

I love it, Sarah.

01:05:53 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 9:

I was kicking him under the table.

01:05:56 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 7:

That is so funny. uh uh antonio it's not the pest control it's the tree guys you're the tree guy

01:06:05 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 3:

01:06:30 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 7:

Antonio, if you're a good tree guy, you don't need to knock on doors. There's a lot of business out there for you guys.

01:06:35 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, say your name again. I need you.

01:06:38 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Antonio with Royal Eagle Tree Service. There we go. How do people get a hold of you? I'm writing your name down for real.

01:06:47 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 7:

01:07:47 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 7:

We need them for our sales team. Yeah, these guys, right? That's how our sales team should go out and sell. We should have them knock on doors at 7 o'clock at night, you know?

01:07:57 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and then a whole year later, they came again, and I was very pregnant, like eight months pregnant. I answered in my pajamas, and he ended up still trying to sell me again, but then he also offered me a job, and I looked down at my stomach. I'm like, do you see my condition right now?

01:08:14 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 7:

You know what's funny is I wanted to say to these guys, The only pests I want to get rid of are YouTube bastards. But I didn't know if it would actually fly with them. But, all right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

wherever you get your podcasts or find us on YouTube. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Commercial-free, the Mojo in the Morning show, home of The War of the Roses. Dirty on the 30, second date update, throwback throwdown, five lies, tell your mom, and more. Kevin is wondering what he should do for next week with Josiah. What's going on?

01:10:21 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 5:

So next week is Josiah's final week of sixth grade. And I remember when I was a child, these last few weeks were like the greatest weeks of my life. Like if there was a summer version of the excitement I felt around Christmas or my birthday, it was like the last two weeks of school. There used to be programming or they would bring out, you know, water guns for us. We'd have water fights or they would just let us. It felt like recess was the entire day or you'd see the teacher let you watch movies, yes, bring in the VCR. We'd watch all kinds of stuff. I don't know if it's like that anymore. or at least that's not the energy or the vibe that I'm getting from Josiah because he's like, do I have to go to school the last week? I would rather just stay home. And I'm kind of torn where I'm like, okay, it's not like they're giving any real work at this time. It's not like he's being graded for anything or there's a test coming up or he has immense homework. And, again, I don't think that they're having these grand field days or anything, so why am I really making him go if he doesn't want to?

01:11:21 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 6:

So wait, so his interest is not as interested as you were because you were excited about these days. Did you tell them that that's probably what they're going to do in school? I don't, I feel like they would have already started. Really?

01:11:32 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 4:

No, well, yeah.

01:11:33 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes they spring it on you, don't they? And say, all right, today's.

01:11:36 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, Lucy got in the car at car pickup yesterday and she goes, mom, we had four recesses today. And I thought, oh, here we go. It's over. And she brought home every folder, every book, every workbook in her backpack. And so I asked her, then what are you doing for the rest of this week and next week? And she's like, mm-hmm.

01:11:54 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. That is actually interesting when the teachers will tell you, clean out your locker. She did. And there's still like a week of school left. Yeah. And you're wondering, like, what are we going to do the rest?

01:12:01 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 4:

Four recesses. Yeah. So she had a good day.

01:12:04 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 6:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We need to talk to teachers and administrators and say, do you have to go to school on these days? And then also parents. How many parents let their kids not go? I do think, I remember one of my favorite moments ever was we would go to the area, it was right down the street from the school that we went to, St. Mike's. We would go there and have like an outdoor picnic and everybody would kind of have fun and the teachers were all wearing like shorts. And you're like, oh my God, the teacher's not wearing teacher clothes? And you'd have fun and you could drink as much Kool-Aid as you wanted to drink. Or they would go to McDonald's and get the orange drink from McDonald's. You had field day.

01:12:46 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 4:

We had a fun run at Park Lane Elementary in Grosseo.

01:12:48 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 6:

Do you remember the yellow cooler thing from McDonald's with the red top? It was crazy. And it had like a drink in it that was like, they never sold it at McDonald's.

01:12:57 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 4:

Full circle in college. You never knew what was in that, but you still drank it.

01:13:00 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 6:

So good. That jungle juice. What's going on, Erica? Hi.

01:13:04 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning. I'm just calling because my son, he's home today, actually. He's like, Mom, finals are next week. Either you're passing or you're not, and I'm passing. So can I stay home? So, sure, stay home, sleep in, do whatever you want to do, take a day for yourself.

01:13:20 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 6:

Erica, you're raising a lazy kid. Get that little bastard to school.

01:13:24 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 3:

And he works. He works a part-time job. So, he works at a golf course. So, he's not lazy by any means. All right, Erica, we love it. But I want to stay home.

01:13:33 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 6:

All right, that's not bad. What about Cedar Point Day? Those were the best days. Remember when your school would go to Cedar Point at the end of school, like you'd get the trip? I don't think we did. You guys didn't do that? It was always like an eighth-grade trip to Cedar Point. It's like you can't miss that day. Diane, what's going on?

01:13:49 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm in favor of letting the kids stay home, but they've changed the rules, and they make the state test on the last three days of school, so they have to go.

01:13:58 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 6:

You're kidding me. You can't do the state test that day? That's stupid.

01:14:02 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 1:

True story. That's crazy. Nobody's focused. At all.

01:14:06 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:14:06 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 6:

They're done.

01:14:07 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 4:

I will let them stay home.

01:14:09 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 6:

No wonder why these kids all test dumb in school.

01:14:12 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 4:

Nobody cares. And I can tell you something. None of the moms care. You should see my kids' lunches this morning. I'm like, at this point, whatever.

01:14:19 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 6:

What is the craziest lunch you've ever packed for your kids?

01:14:22 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Chips. Straight chips. That's a big bag of chips.

01:14:26 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, chips.

01:14:27 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 6:

Jessica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:14:29 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi, Jess. Hi. So I'm a teacher. It's actually my first year officially teaching, but I'm a teacher over at Madison Heights. So shout out to Madison Heights. Yes. And I don't know what the heck is happening at Josiah's school because we have been doing all kinds of fun stuff all week. We had our field day yesterday. We have, like, our special ed fun run today. We have popsicles and snow cones and all kinds of stuff. What's a snow cone?

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Snow cone. Snow cone. It's snow cone.

01:15:00 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 5:

Crackheads? What's going on out there? No, like the Kona Ice Truck. Oh, I love the Kona Ice Truck. Can I tell you? We need that here.

01:15:11 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you that, Jessica, I want to shout you out for a second. I love first-year teachers and the enthusiasm that you have towards teaching. We need more people to want to be teachers. Thanks. Because I'll tell you, to me, this is the only thing for our future that we can hold on to, is that there are young, you know, fun people that are going in there and wanting to do this because so many times people stop doing it because of COVID kind of changed the game a little bit. And also we're still devaluing teachers too much. You know, we're not paying them enough money.

01:15:44 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, COVID and everything. I'm actually a special education teacher, so it's been a little scary too. But first year went great. I love my kiddos. Those are like my own kids. Those are my children. That's dope. And we're having a slime and pizza party next year. Are you kidding me?

01:16:01 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Why didn't Josiah transfer to that school? Forget Josiah, I want to go. Natalie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:16:09 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I'm calling in from Plymouth, Canton. And they collected all the computers already from the children.

01:16:15 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 5:

Yep.

01:16:15 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 3:

And then on Monday, there's a field trip for the whole 6th, 7th, and 8th. I'm not letting my daughter go because she doesn't know how to skate. She's like, don't pay $20 for me to break my leg. That's funny. Skating at home on Monday.

01:16:29 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Them skating trips? Boy, I used to be on the rail the whole time. Those were actually fun times. I see you guys didn't enjoy those. I mean, Northland Skating Ring used to bang, but when you didn't know how to skate, it wasn't that fun. But that's where you would get the girls' numbers for the summertime to hang out with. But you couldn't skate. I used to be on the rail looking crazy. Or you would just sit down and move your legs back and forth. What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?

01:16:55 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I, um, yesterday I went to get my son out of his last day of school and there was 1300 kids at the school and 500 were trying to get out early and there was all sorts of, it was quite entertaining to watch the kids file in like the two besties, like our dad's called in the morning and we said we can come home and leave and they're like, well, your dad has to, you know, actually call and, you know, come get you and stuff. And it was just, I was very entertained for a few minutes while I was watching everybody file in trying to leave.

01:17:22 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 1:

What school is that, by the way, that there are 1,300 kids? Plymouth. Was it Plymouth County?

01:17:27 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 4:

Anthony Wayne in Ohio. Oh, in Ohio. Okay.

01:17:31 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Tiffany, that's amazing. You know what? Those office people, those front office people the last week of school, those poor ladies there. Ashley, Braxton, and Anna are on with us right now. And where are you guys heading?

01:17:46 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 6:

To Cedar Point.

01:17:47 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 2:

Yay! So fun. Although, is the weather going to be okay? What's the weather going to be on here?

01:17:54 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 6:

We're praying. It says, I think, from, like, 12 to 3, it's going to rain. Yeah. Our trip, though, it's not with the whole school. It's just, like, our band.

01:18:06 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:18:06 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 6:

Our old band is building. Oh, okay. Okay.

01:18:08 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 2:

Fun. You know what? Don't fall for it. Buy your ponchos before you get to the park. They're a lot less expensive at the Speedway. Yeah, go to the dollar store right now. All right.

01:18:18 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we got some. We already got some.

01:18:21 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, you guys have fun either way. You're not in school. Remember that.

01:18:26 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:18:27 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

Take care. See you guys. Thank you. Who's driving? Wait, who's driving you guys? You guys seem young.

01:18:33 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 6:

Ash, me. I'm the mom.

01:18:35 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Ashley. Oh, my God. You sound like you're in high school.

01:18:40 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 6:

Thanks. I have a 17-year-old, but these guys are 13.

01:18:44 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, have fun, okay?

01:18:47 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

01:18:47 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Bye. You made it through school. Still cool to ask mom to do your laundry? We don't judge. This is Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:04 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:19:06 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Live. Hold on. Tracker Kenny, are you there? Yeah, what's up, guys? What's going on? Tracker Kenny. Here, Kev is talking about how Josiah doesn't want to go to school for the rest of the year because he's bored with school.

01:19:19 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 1:

your son can't go to school will you explain yeah he um he got into a scuffle uh after school got into a fight with a kid and uh some teachers saw it so they thought they were going to get away with it but apparently the teachers went back next day told administration they pulled up the cctv footage saw the fist fight happen and uh told both the kids that they were done

01:19:56 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 2:

or are you kind of like whatever you know no i'm I'm the type of parent where, I mean, if somebody's talking crap to you, you know, don't let them do it, you know, stand your ground. But I'm more mad that I had to find out the next day from the school. Yeah. And he just didn't tell us at all. Yeah. So, like, we had no idea. We got blindsided by the school for it. Yeah.

01:20:14 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

But you also understand why he didn't tell you right away, Dad. He was hoping that that call that wouldn't come, right?

01:20:23 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he thought he was getting away with it. Yeah.

01:20:25 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, appreciate our truckers. We appreciate you, Kenny. Take care of yourself.

Coming up here in just a little bit, Lydia wants to call out Bianca for her always inviting Bianca to places and Bianca never showing up. Can you like my wife? That's a topic on the way in just a little bit. No closet is safe when Shannon and Wes are around. That's on the way. And the War of the Roses. If you missed it from earlier this morning, caught on the ring cam, a wife busts her husband cheating with the lady who cleans their house, the maid that cleans their house. That's happening here in just a little bit on the Mojo in the Morning Show. You can stream that, by the way, on our podcast. So it's available on our podcast right now. Search Mojo in the morning and then look for that podcast. It's actually up right now as we speak. And you can see that. And then also we'll have our TikToks up too. Follow us on TikTok, Mojo in the morning and channel 955. Oh, you know what else we got to do, Lydia? We have to squabble up. And we got to check in with the squabble up with your ex and check in with a couple more contestants this morning that are trying to win tickets to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA next week. If you're willing to go to the concert with your ex, you've got to get your ex to agree to this because you guys are both going to go handcuffed together. And we're going to hear some more crazy relationships that ended and why they ended. I loved yesterday's one contestant. Today's, I guess, is supposed to be a really good one, too. All right, Mojo in the morning show. real quick uh do you want to hear from some more of these uh people that are applying for this job opening that we have yeah we have a bunch of people that are applying for this job opening that uh that we have and uh they're sending us videos uh i love the videos yeah there's some there's some good ones that have been uh have been coming in and some of them are so creative

01:23:16 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 1:

like the girl yesterday who showed us around her farm it was great yeah it's interesting because

01:23:22 - 01:23:26 | Speaker 3:

everybody has something different to offer and i think that's hey you guys this is kristen from

01:23:26 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 1:

kristen shops on social media but i'm also a wedding videographer solo editor shooter a storyteller for the last nine years full-time in the state of michigan and chicago and all around the city of detroit my home and love and it's been super fun but i'm ready to branch off this weird talent tree of mine and this has been an opportunity that i think i was made for i think i've been auditioning for this without even knowing i love to have a good time i love to have fun i really don't put myself in any position where i am not having a good time leisure is what i'm passionate about and i hail from lake orion michigan where our motto is we're living as a vacation and i just think i took that to heart and so anyways i think this is a really fun opportunity i love her excited yeah she's great she's adorable look how cute See you guys on June 20th, and I can't wait to chat with you.

01:24:18 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 3:

You're still down. Are you doing okay? No, this is for the last few days. You're so cute.

01:24:24 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 4:

For the last few days, you've had this laptop, and Shannon has easy access just to pop around. I've got to walk all the way around. I feel like doing that.

01:24:32 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 3:

Buddy, I looked at you, and you look like you need to lose some weight. It's time for you to get your fat ass off and come over here.

01:24:39 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 4:

That's what happens when fat people get skinny. All of a sudden, they want to point out your flaws. He's offering us all his zero-calorie pretzels all day.

01:24:47 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I like Kristen. I like her. She's good. She's got some energy to her. I got to tell you, the mini microphone thing's kind of getting me on people.

01:24:56 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 1:

You like or don't like?

01:24:57 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm not a big mini microphone guy. I hate.

01:25:00 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 4:

That's her business. I understand, but I hate the mini mic. I hate the mini mic. Everybody's got the mini mics, and they've got to talk into the mini mics, and they've got to hold them like they're talking into the mini mics.

01:25:09 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 1:

Have you guys seen Bianca hold hers?

01:25:10 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it drives me crazy, Bianca.

01:25:12 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 5:

I know you hate me for that. I have one. I bought another one. I'm going to give it to you for your birthday.

01:25:17 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 4:

You can't have a big mic on the street, though. If you're a mini mic person, I hate you. Okay, next one here. Hold on a second. Let me pull up. Oh, this is an interesting one. Let's pull up this one. And this is somebody who's applying for the job here on the Mojo in the Morning show for our job fair that we're going to be having.

01:25:35 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 5:

Are you just cold playing these or have you seen the ones already that you're, oh God.

01:25:39 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 4:

Honestly. Yes, it's great. Okay. This makes me nervous. Is there anything wrong with this one? Oh, look. No, I don't know. Look at this lady, huh? Oh, hold on a second.

01:25:46 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, Kevin Shannon. I'm Alexis. I'm a mother of three. I'm married to an athletic trainer. I am a psychotherapist. I'm in my office right now. I would feel so self-conscious every day. I've spent my last 15 years in the mental health field, and I love it, and I truly feel like this was part of my journey in life. I probably tear up on a monthly basis that I'm not doing something in the entertainment field because that is something that fills my cup up so much.

01:26:12 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't that be amazing, though, to have a psychotherapist? It might be exactly what we need. Do you know how much I could save if I had a psychotherapist that was on staff? That would be a great one. I don't know. I know Shannon doesn't want that because you know what? But we will finally get clinical.

01:26:27 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 5:

Look, I have already disclosed to you all many times. I'm crazy.

01:26:32 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 4:

We will catch Shannon in her clinical worst here on the show. Hold on a second. Next person here. Let me see what I got. And these are just random. I'm just pulling them up randomly. So I don't want anybody to be upset if we don't play theirs.

01:26:48 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 5:

Truly, I'm watching him just click at random.

01:26:50 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 4:

And nobody's getting the job or not getting the job through me doing this video thing, okay? They're going to actually have to talk to the boss. Oh, look at this guy.

01:27:01 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 3:

Look at this guy here. Yeah, everyone. My name's Han. I'm 39 years old, and you should definitely hire me. Although I lack broadcasting experience, I feel like I have a lot to bring to the table in terms of charisma, positive energy, and just good overall vibes for both in-house and your guys' listeners. definitely look forward to bringing engaging content i have a lot of hobbies so it just kind of affects a diverse range in broad range this guy might be too smart for us he reminds me of one of my professors and i cannot wait to meet you guys i like though that he had a kid screaming in

01:27:37 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 4:

the background or something now you didn't like that you didn't like the kid was screaming am i gonna be the harshest critic yeah you're simon cowell on this one here i liked the first girl

01:27:48 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 5:

I licked Kristen.

01:27:49 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm more Randy and Mojo's, what's her name? I'm the fat. Wait, you're the fat Randy? I'm the one that's chill, kind of like, eh. I'm Ryan Seacrest. I'm a good-looking, highlighted host. I was going to say, you're more Paul Abduo. I want to be, I'm Brian Dunkelman. I'm only getting a season one out of this whole deal. All right, so those are some of the people that are applying for this job that we have here. It's a job fair that we're doing on the 20th. I do have to give you a forewarning, and this is a little disclaimer. Not everybody that comes to the job fair will make it on the air.

01:28:23 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 5:

Don't call it a job fair. It's an open audition because there's only one position.

01:28:26 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I guess that is. You know what I mean?

01:28:28 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 5:

A job fair, there's like a lot of jobs. There's only one job.

01:28:32 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 4:

This is okay.

01:28:33 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 1:

An open audition is more so like everyone gets to sit on the mic, and they don't.

01:28:37 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's true, Lydia. All right, then it's a closed audition. It's an open fair. But you have a chance to become part of the Mojo in the morning show. Obviously, you kind of hear everybody that's here. We all have a piece of the pie. You can get a little piece, but you got to fit in and you got to apply two ways. One, by applying and going to our social media and seeing that little Google thing that we put together, the Google Doc. The other one that's the more official one, you have to go to iHeart Careers and you have to apply on there. Because if you apply on only one or none, you cannot come to the job fair. You can't even come into the building that day to be part of this thing. So make sure that you get this done soon because we'll be closing off the non-job fair, the open audition, closed audition. So make sure you do that.

01:29:29 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Everything you do on radio, like be one of the hosts on Mojo in the Morning. Hey, bitch, that's my job. Mojo in the Morning has an opening. And it takes real intellect to be on this show.

01:29:38 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 4:

If you're getting flued out, he pays for the flight. Flued out. If he thinks you're getting slewed out.

01:29:45 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 2:

What? We're talking about things that draw out the best in society. I just wanted to say this whole topic is so disgusting to me. You work with Mojo, Kev, Lydia, Bianca, Zach, and Sweet. Innocent Shannon.

01:29:57 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Shannon only likes to watch...

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 2:

basically hardcore porn and likes to turn friends onto it, including me and my wife.

01:30:06 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 4:

That was the show.

01:30:07 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 1:

Apply by going to iHeartMediaCareers.com and search Mojo. You'll be one step closer to smelling whatever comes out of Kev's body every morning.

01:30:14 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Shut up. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. I saw this new law that's going into effect in Michigan. They're talking about this on the news when I was driving in this morning. And it's an interesting one. I didn't realize this was actually a big problem, but I could see where it would be. They are protecting people who are blind and they're service animals, where if you hit them with your car, you actually could get a harsher penalty than if you just hit a regular pedestrian. Because there are so many cases, I guess, I'm assuming, unless there's, you know, just one particular person that got hit that has a good way of getting to the legislature and change laws. And I guess a lot of it is electric cars are becoming an issue where people are driving their electric cars and people who are blind and their service animals can't hear the actual car coming. And if you are one of those people driving those cars and you hit these people or hit their dogs, the fine and the penalty could be harsher for you.

01:31:22 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 4:

You know what else is an issue? It's not only the EVs, but it's also a lot of our cars. I don't know if your cars do this, but they will turn off at the stoplight. And so then you can't hear them as well. So it is a huge, huge issue. Yeah.

01:31:36 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 2:

It's wild.

01:31:37 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Because a lot of the crosswalks, I know Rochester has the ones that make the noise.

01:31:41 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 2:

West Bloomfield has it too.

01:31:42 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm noticing it more and more in certain communities around here.

01:31:46 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 2:

West Brunfield did it, and it was thanks to the Bernstein family, which was the Justice Bernstein that is blind. He actually would walk that area there, right there off of Maple Road, and could not go through the walk to get across the road because of that.

01:32:03 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 3:

I mean, a lot of these, and obviously I can see in here, but a lot of these electric cars are so quiet, even I have trouble sometimes hearing it. I can only imagine if you can't hear at all.

01:32:15 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, I tell my kids, and they, like, Smith loves to rollerblade and skateboard, and Lucy's always riding her bike or her scooter. I'm like, you guys have to be aware in the street, even in our neighborhood, because people aren't paying attention. They're looking at their phone until they get out to the main road, and if you can't hear them coming up from behind you or turning, like, you have to be so, so super cautious of it.

01:32:37 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 2:

but um i uh i found it to be interesting that uh uh that uh when i heard the story i'm like oh we

01:32:44 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 4:

got to talk about that uh that on the air well this is always so relatable to me because my my niece is blind um shout out to navy love my navy girl and so whenever i navy is going to be three she's gonna be three in july wow i know i can't believe it we were actually i got to see her last night because my sister uh we were all out for to celebrate smith's birthday and so we went out to dinner and um so navy has an ultra rare genetic disorder called m cops 12 and part of her symptoms is that one of her symptoms is that she is blind and so and she she her eyes are like partially open when she's awake but you you can tell she's like you can look at her and go okay she's blind and last night something happened and it was so funny to see my sister it's one of my sister's biggest pet peeves where people will come up to the table they see a baby because she's still very very teeny tiny so we were holding her and people will come up and go oh she's sleeping and my sister's like nope she's she's actually wide awake and people say it to her all the time and so it happened twice excuse me during dinner last night and Jacqueline was finally like you what i'm gonna make her a little t-shirt that says i'm actually effing awake so people just stop doing it because it drives my sister so crazy you know that everybody just assumes even though i feel like you can tell but she's like i would rather people just come up and ask questions and

01:34:15 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 2:

come up and you can tell they're like that is amazing uh that that that happens more frequently than you would think like that that people would uh would come up and do that and do that oh she's

01:34:27 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 4:

oh she's sleeping they all of a sudden get really quiet and we're like nope she is she's wide awake

01:34:31 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 3:

her eyes are open it's kind of messed up though i feel like i walk around i mean they walk away gotta be feeling like they gotta feel like it's totally unintentional don't get me wrong

01:34:42 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 4:

but my sister hears it all day every day and so she just last night was like

01:34:48 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

you know yeah that's wild i see you you post uh navy on your social media and anytime you post navy on your social media i feel like i myself and my wife like

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 1:

just eat her up man she is so cute she just got a new kick-ass wheelchair okay and it's so cute

01:35:05 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 5:

what is it what has it done for your family um and i know that it's got to be very uh much tougher on your sister and your brother-in-law and stuff like that but what is it how has it changed the

01:35:19 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

dynamic of your family that's a really i mean she we truly believe that god picked our family for her that she was given to us very specifically she is the most loved little girl um and i think we i mean my sister and my brother-in-law jacqueline and ryan are rock stars i look at them because they had no indication that we were getting navy that that they were going to get a child with very severe special needs because when she was born there was no indication on her ultrasound or her testing nothing that showed that there was an abnormality um that there was a genetic mutation and so um they were prepared to have a quote-unquote normal baby girl yeah right and so their life totally shifted in those moments of finding out that they are going we as a family are going to be caring for her for her entire life and but she you know you she's such a gift And I think you hear a lot of families that have a family member with special needs as a part of their family. And you like you life is so precious. And she teaches you that even the littlest things. My sister has really bad allergies right now. This is a great example. So she's constantly blowing her nose. And the sound of her blowing of mom blowing her nose to Navy makes her laugh to the point where she almost can't breathe. She can't catch her breath. and you're like we take everything for granted yeah and for her it's the little things that are the big things that make her so genuinely happy and you can't help but just be so joyful around

01:36:59 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 5:

her because she's so happy all the time that's sweet that's sweet jenny what's up it's mojo in

01:37:04 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 3:

the morning hi hi how you guys doing we're good what's going on good yeah my daughter she's three She was born blind as well, and it used to irritate the crap out of me when people would say, oh, she's sleeping, and they still actually say that to me, and now I just blatantly say, nope, she's blind, and people normally are like, oh, oh, I'm sorry, and I'm like, no, it's okay. It's just, you know, she's not sleeping.

01:37:28 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 5:

Wow, so it's so similar to what Shannon's sister has to deal with.

01:37:33 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I feel for her sister. It is annoying.

01:37:36 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 5:

It's amazing. Well, what's your cutie's name?

01:37:39 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 3:

Her name is Braylon.

01:37:41 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 5:

Braylon.

01:37:41 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Braylon.

01:37:43 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate you, Jenny. Thanks for calling.

01:37:44 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 3:

She was born with optic nerve hyperplasia, so just another genetic condition.

01:37:49 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 5:

And how old is she?

01:37:51 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

She's three now.

01:37:52 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Same age. Yeah, that's amazing.

01:37:54 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 3:

They need to be besties. Yeah.

01:37:56 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 5:

Take care of yourself, Jenny. Appreciate you.

01:37:58 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, too.

01:37:59 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 5:

Leah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:38:03 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning. How are you guys? Good morning.

01:38:05 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

01:38:07 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 4:

So my sister-in-law, she's severely handicapped. She has cerebral palsy, and I just, I got the chills when you were talking about Navy. She is so sweet, and my mother-in-law says the same thing about my sister-in-law that, you know, she wanted God to bless her with a child, and if that child had special needs, she would obviously take care of her, and it's just so special when you have a family that is so just, obviously if it's a child, you're happy, but when you have a child with special needs, it's different, and I also wanted to say for your other niece, you know, my husband and his brother, I feel like they have a different sense of compassion because of their sister. And that was one of the reasons why I fell in love with him. So I think it's also amazing for your other niece to see how she'll grow up and with a sister with special needs, it's, it's different. You get looked at my sister and mom makes loud noises. It's the way she expresses herself. So, and now having a son, like I want to make sure that when he grows up, he sees, you know, there are people who are different in the world and that's okay. Everyone's unique.

01:39:07 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's, that's cute though, that that actually is the reason why you fell in love with your husband, that you saw the compassion that he had. That's great. Thank you for the call. Thank you, Sarah. What's up, Sarah?

01:39:20 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I just wanted to say it really warmed my heart to hearing what she had to say about her niece. I have two kids less than a year apart in age. They both have level three autism, which is the most severe and they're nonverbal. um so like just the how often things are taken for granted by parents um i mean i just by anyone you know like the littlest things for my kids are such big things and i just get a lot of idiotic comments towards my kids and a lot of you know weird looks and uh Thank you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 1:

understanding and it's just really nice to hear it's amazing to me when um you know and i could hear your him in the background right he's right there my daughter i just got my daughter back okay but it is amazing that uh that we all live in a world and i guess we almost have to give grace to some people because they just don't know sometimes and then maybe but maybe your child is one of the people that will open up their uh their eyes and their hearts to you know what what it's like to to be autistic you know what I mean like I think there's sometimes you hear somebody like making noises or doing anything and your first thing is like oh why is that kid acting that way and then you don't understand that this is you know something that they can't

01:40:43 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 4:

control yeah yeah I actually I wear I wear a t-shirt all the time it says because my daughter she does vocal stim switcher yeah it says happy noises there you know it's her expression of excitement of joy and it says you know if you hear these sounds you're one of the lucky ones oh i love that yeah i love that well thanks sarah we appreciate you thank you love you guys

01:41:09 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 1:

all right appreciate you all right mojo in the morning mojo in the morning call mojo in the I feel like the sister relationship that our executive producer, Lydia, has with Bianca, the director of Social Impact on our show, is going to come to a head sometime soon. Okay, wait.

01:41:36 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 2:

They're already getting feisty with each other. Miami is going to look different.

01:41:40 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you. They're not going to come back to say it. These guys, first off, are not related at all. they are both chaldean so they're both chaldeans um they both have uh the similar type of of backgrounds as far as like what area town they come from they're both east side detroiters um lydia is what like five six years older than bianca yeah so it's like lydia has her own little sister which lydia is an only child basically right she's got a an older brother but she was not raised in the same house with the older brother and so this is kind of like lydia's you know now i got a sister thing and in the beginning they were so cute with each other where they would sit there and laugh and giggle and hang out and share the same clothes and now

01:42:28 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 2:

lydia is pissed what was what were you guys arguing about this morning because yesterday i was talking about how i was going to bingo with my mom and some of her friends yeah the best time ever and bianca used to come like three months ago yeah yeah yeah so suddenly now she's decided that she's going to make plans with me to go to bingo pilates we're gonna go to all these baseball games and then she never shows up so yesterday i went to bingo like i said i was going to and 15 minutes before bingo starts she texts me and says yeah i'm actually not gonna make it but can we make plans next week for pilates i'm like no because you never show up to anything

01:43:07 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 1:

Wait, are you the person that agrees to do things but never follows through? You're the bad follow through?

01:43:16 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, clearly like 50% of the time. But actually, lately, me and Lydia are playing the strip to Miami, you guys know about.

01:43:24 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:43:24 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 3:

And it's grind time, bro. Like we got a month and I'm trying to get in the gym and trying to get skinny for Miami. You were getting your hair done.

01:43:30 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so you're saying that it's not your fault that you're not following through on things. it's lydia's fault because she's planning no no no it's okay i like i want to do everything but

01:43:42 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 3:

there's only a certain amount of time in the day and i need to prioritize the gym right now

01:43:46 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 1:

so wait a second but this doesn't make any sense so you didn't show up to bingo but yet but when you didn't show up you called lydia and said what did she say lydia when she called you

01:43:59 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 2:

she said let's make plans for pilates next week so she's canceling on one plan to make plans for another plan that i already know she's not going to show up to because three weeks ago she's been asking to come to pilates with me and we still haven't gone this is amazing because one of the

01:44:13 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

things i will say about your work ethic bianca is that you follow through amazing like you're always like boom you if you bianca you know is hey can you do this or can you get to something like this like she gets it off her plate right away even if it's not due for a couple weeks

01:44:28 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

but she doesn't do that with lydia nope actually the exact text i sent her was 5 38 it started at six i can't make it to bingo i have so much stuff to do but i'll be there soon i swear if i get stuff done i'll come oh my god in 15 but you knew you weren't gonna come at all you weren't going

01:44:44 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 2:

my mom asked me five times she's like didn't bianca say she was coming and i'm like yeah of

01:44:48 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 3:

course oh you disappointed cyan let me take my side real quick me and lady have been planning to go to a tigers game and then 10 roof after all season has not happened yet either so hey so who's

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

that person in your life? Who's the person

01:45:00 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 2:

that agrees to do things and never does them. Do you know that this is me and my friendship with people? Steve Gabara has a joke with people. He says that if he will say, like, he's been trying to get a lunch plan between me, Steve, Drew, from Drew and Mike, and Tony Travato, our boss. And he knows for a fact that I'm never showing up to this thing because I don't specifically give dates. Like, I'll go, oh, yeah, throw me some dates. When I say throw me some dates, that means I ain't going on your date. We ain't going on these things. He knows for a fact that the only way that he'll get me to go to something is if I say, yes, Thursday, 7 p.m., blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like if I actually give a date. Otherwise, I ain't going to the thing.

01:45:44 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 8:

See, for me, and I wonder, Bianca, you tell me if it's the same for you. Sometimes plans seem amazing in the planning stage.

01:45:51 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:45:51 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 8:

But then when a day comes and it's time to actually do it, it's like, I got something.

01:45:55 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 3:

I agree with you, but you need to give more than a 15-minute heads up that you're not going to show. I agree, Kev.

01:46:03 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 5:

I actually did want to go. Like, I actually love going to bingo, but, like, I just have so much stuff to do. Like, I feel like I'm just so busy, and I'm trying to, like— Yeah, I'm sorry.

01:46:09 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 4:

You're not busier than me.

01:46:11 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Uh-oh. She's going to pull out the schedules.

01:46:14 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 5:

I'm trying to look in the gym, and I've been trying to work out every day, and I know you're not doing that, Lydia, so— Oh, hey!

01:46:20 - 01:46:21 | Unknown:

You literally am.

01:46:21 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 4:

Um, you know what? That's actually BS because you asked me to go to Pilates and you never show. We never see you at the gym. So maybe you're just making up that you're at the gym.

01:46:29 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 5:

I don't know where you're at. I'll be at Planet Fitness though.

01:46:32 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 2:

That's like you fat shamed her or something right in the middle of this whole topic.

01:46:35 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. Lydia's skinnier than me. I'm not doing that. But we will go to Pilates because I have to put a $35 down payment and I'm not losing my money. Oh, man.

01:46:44 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Hannah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. See this? The sisters are fighting right now. What's going on?

01:46:49 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 1:

No, I just resonate with it so much, but I probably cancel for other reasons than Bianca. I just have horrible social anxiety, so I can't commit to plans for the life of me. Like, I'll say yes, and last minute, I bail 90% of the time.

01:47:02 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 2:

So it's a social anxiety thing for you. That's what you got to do, Bianca. You got to come up with some kind of a thing that you have. Man. So she can't come down on you.

01:47:10 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 5:

Social anxiety is scared of me.

01:47:13 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Vaughn? How you doing?

01:47:15 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 7:

What's going on? What's going on? Look, it's me. I'm the person that will make the plans with you, and then I cancel. I have had the details completely, time, dates, everything. And I get there on the day of. I can't find parking. I'm going home. Whistle around the block, man. I'm sorry. I hit the group chat. I got to go. I can't find parking. I'm going home.

01:47:38 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

Do your friends hate you for that, Vaughn? Do they get mad at you like Lydia's mad at Bianca?

01:47:44 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 7:

Eventually, they get used to it. Nobody really expects to see me until I actually get there. I'm telling you. But I communicate, though.

01:47:51 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 2:

Kevin's right in this. I make plans for things, and then the day of or the night of, it gets horrible. Sally. What's up, Maddie? This couch is looking real nice. Bad. What's going on, Maddie?

01:48:01 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Hi. Hi. So I am much like Bianca, too, where I will make these plans, and I'm like, sorry, like, I can't go through. I try, okay? I really do try. but my work consumes my life as unhealthy as that is it does um love it though love my job um but it just it takes it takes over my life and sometimes i have last minute plans yeah

01:48:24 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

like with work i got to say it's there is something about how we over uh commit ourselves we're all guilty of it my problem is i got one of two things two extremes i over commit or way under commit and when I weigh under commit I get FOMO and when I weigh over commit I get mojo and I get crazy uh what's up summer it's mojo in the morning what's going on

01:48:51 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 3:

hi guys how are you what's happening I'm good so it's my sister-in-law literally every single time that we are making plans or we make plans I'll call her the day of and I'll tell her hey are we still doing this and she'll either be like oh i'm too busy oh i can't come or she will either come and she'll come so late like i make plans with her and my my son and my nephew and i'll tell my son that i my nephew is coming over or my nephew is gonna meet us somewhere and she'll she will come late or she won't even talk she actually what the heck is going on and i stopped

01:49:29 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 2:

You cannot do that with kids. You cannot not show for kids because if you commit and you don't do it with kids, kids remember forever, although I think some are worse.

01:49:40 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm not telling my kid no more, like, what we're doing because I'm going to tell him last minute if St. is coming over because if he's not, then you're going to break my kid's heart.

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

My friend actually said that to me. He's like, you cannot say that you're going to do something, and my son doesn't have, you know, you there Because he gets all excited that he

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 5:

you're going to be there. Angie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:50:04 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I was just calling to let Lydia know that she can just take me to Miami. Absolutely. Because Bianca will be at the gym. She's too busy. Clearly. Once July 2nd hits, I'm done with the gym.

01:50:16 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right.

01:50:18 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 2:

Off the wagon. No, but I hope you ladies have fun.

01:50:21 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 5:

On to the cocktails and having fun in Miami.

01:50:23 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 2:

We're going to be having Miami Vices in Miami, baby.

01:50:26 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. Who is this on the phone? Hello, Mojo in the morning?

01:50:30 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:50:31 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez.

01:50:32 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 4:

Ah, Stevie G!

01:50:33 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 5:

Steve Gabara from Zod Ford. What's up, Steve?

01:50:38 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 4:

So, good morning. I had to call for a small qualification because it's through your positive and negative, but this is the breakdown on Mojo. If you ask him to do anything, be anywhere, go anywhere, and you get anything other than a yes, if you're going to let me check into it, if I come a little late, I think so.

01:50:56 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 3:

I might come a little late.

01:50:56 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

any of those is an automatic no

01:51:00 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 3:

no he doesn't come late

01:51:05 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 4:

that's a no but when he says yes he's always there so i gotta give him his props but anything but a yes is a no that's the

01:51:15 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 2:

automatic rule so that's what i gotta start doing let me check i'll get back to you steve were you invited to go to check

01:51:21 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 5:

were you invited to go to miami with lydia and bianca because i feel like These guys didn't invite me or Cav or Shannon or anybody.

01:51:30 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 4:

You know, I must have missed the invite. I'm sure it's probably in my spam or something.

01:51:34 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 5:

I always find it funny that the show always likes to hang out with each other, but it's never the fun ones that we're hanging out at.

01:51:42 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

01:51:43 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 5:

It's always like the show gets to hang. It's like we all need to have show bonding, but it's never let's go to Miami together. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean?

01:51:50 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, Shannon can come, but no offense. If you guys came with us, we wouldn't get any free stuff because you guys would be sea blocking us. Just bring an extra drink back to the section. That's it.

01:51:59 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 5:

But if we bring Steve Guevara with, we got ourselves an Amex platinum card. Oh, Steve, you can come.

01:52:05 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 2:

You're invited.

01:52:06 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I find friends different ways. Apparently, the Amex is one of them. I'll talk to you later, buddy.

01:52:12 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 3:

Bye, Steve. Bye, guys.

01:52:14 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 5:

Hey, by the way, have you been listening to the Joe show today at all? Steve?

01:52:19 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:52:19 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 5:

What are you talking about is Bronco? Oh, it's honestly gotten to a point where, like, it's an obsession. I've been getting texts from people going, hey, I just heard this Joe bought a car from Steve Gabbara. And I'm like, how did you hear that? I guess he's been nonstop. He bought a Bronco from Steve. And he's been nonstop talking about this Bronco that he got. So he's obsessed with his Bronco down in Florida.

01:52:42 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 4:

So, all right, buddy. Okay, well, that's good to know. I'm going to go listen to him instead of you guys. We'll see you later.

01:52:48 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes you miss your ass. Then you remember what a douchebag he is and how awesome you are. Then you remember you don't miss him. Another War of the Roses is after 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:52:58 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 5:

All right, you got to hear that War of the Roses. Caught on the ring cam, a husband cheating with the maid. That's happening at 9 o'clock. It's Mojo in the Morning, our summer of cars, cash, and gas. Your chance to win a 2025 loaded Chevy Trax from Gordon Chevrolet. And this summer, we're also giving you an opportunity to win $20,000 cash. you can choose car or cash with a $50 gas card being given away right now so you can fuel up over at Kroger courtesy of Green Flame Tequila 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I feel like I need to get some music going or something let's go well Chan's gonna do the dirty but in a second

01:53:40 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 3:

I'll make it short and then we can do you wanna do throwbacks can we get a

01:53:43 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 5:

iHeart Festival mini mix maybe with a little fave so that maybe

01:53:48 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 3:

according to Steve Cabar is a no for him no that's true all right shannon what's up in this dirty she is my step daughter's idol olympic track star gabby thomas and she's in the dirty this morning because fan duel just announced that it has banned a better who posted a video of himself heckling gabby who's a gold medalist by the way at a recent track event and claimed that it made his parlay win. And this has been happening again and again

01:54:21 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 2:

and again lately. Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas is speaking out after a disturbing incident at a recent track meet. Don't talk about me like you did yesterday, Gabby. A man posting this video bragging about causing Thomas to lose a race last weekend after harassing her from the stands.

01:54:40 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 4:

You're going down, Gabby. You're going down, Gabby.

01:54:43 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 2:

At one point, even targeting her husband's race.

01:54:47 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 4:

Melissa got married this year, got a black husband. Gabby got a white guy. I want Melissa to win.

01:54:54 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 2:

The man claims he won his bet thanks to her loss, writing, I made Gabby lose by...

01:55:00 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 1:

heckling her and it made my parlay win thomas saying this grown man followed me around the track as i took pictures and signed autographs anybody who enables him online is gross the

01:55:10 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 4:

incidents themselves seem to be increasing i think that the line is going to be crossed when you find people who are doing the heckling intentionally trying to help their bet fanduel

01:55:22 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 1:

now banning the man from its platform but the behavior is part of a growing trend Knicks star Jalen Brunson has claimed he gets threats after nearly every game, some against his daughter. And last month, a bettor sent death threats to Astros pitcher Lance McCullers.

01:55:38 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 2:

Threatening to find my kids and murder them is a little bit tough to deal with. When those bettors, when they lose that money, it activates that part of our brain and our body that puts us in threat. And we're more likely to be harassing or saying and doing things that we wouldn't typically say and do in our normal lives. That's crazy.

01:55:57 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 7:

Isn't that nuts?

01:55:58 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 5:

I never in a million years would think that that's the reason why the heckling has gotten crazy. But hearing those stories about the baseball players that were being threatened.

01:56:07 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 7:

His kids were threatened. That's too far.

01:56:10 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 5:

Sad.

01:56:11 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 7:

Yesterday in Manhattan for the Diddy trial, a fashion designer by the name of Brianna Bonglin told the jury about an incident that happened back in 2016 where Diddy dangled her from a balcony.

01:56:24 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

Harrowing testimony of fear and danger at the trial of Sean Combs, where a friend of his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura told the jury Combs once dangled her over a 17-story balcony. Another time, Bongolan testified, Combs came up really close to my face and said something like, I'm the devil and I could kill you. Combs denies the claims, and the defense tried to hammer inconsistencies between Bongolan's testimony and her 2024 civil lawsuit. And Bongolan admitted on cross-examination she and Cassie Ventura had a drug problem.

01:57:34 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 5:

That trial is interesting because nobody's in the courtroom but these, you know, reporters like that guy right there that just did the thing. and I feel like the trial was amped up for a while when Sierra was doing the- Cassie. Or Cassie was doing the- Testimony. The testimony. I feel like people aren't caring about it now. I know it sounds weird to say this, but I'm even noticing the news where they covered this story as like the first or second story in their newscast.

01:58:02 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 7:

Well, I think everybody anticipated Cassie's testimony until once, yeah.

01:58:06 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you guys, this is how trials go sometimes, where trials are like the biggest thing that people are talking about and you're like okay we can sense this it's the trial of a century oj you know all that stuff if it fades away a little bit it's actually a good sign i think for the defendant and i think that this is one of those ones where the these prosecutors if there is if this guy's guilty and listen we all have our opinions on this but if he is guilty this prosecution better have better evidence and better witnesses than these people that have testified so far also though the news

01:58:41 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 6:

oftentimes only cares about names, bro, and not the reality of, but the heaviness of the

01:58:47 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 7:

situation. Hey, that's actually a very good point. When you've got a Jane Doe and we don't know who it is, unfortunately, you're right.

01:58:55 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 5:

The story is salacious enough.

01:58:57 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm saying, but if it comes out tomorrow that Jay-Z was on a tape, it'd be the first headline on every single news channel. They don't care about quote-unquote nobodies. That doesn't sell.

01:59:07 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 7:

Although, are any of you guys following the Karen Reed trial? Oh my God. And Karen Reed is a woman accused of killing her cop husband or boyfriend.

01:59:17 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 5:

And a lot of people are thinking that she didn't kill her. She was framed. She was framed.

01:59:22 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 6:

She's 100% being framed. She's being framed. His boys did it, right? The other guys on the force? Is it that one?

01:59:27 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

They say she ran over him with her car and killed him.

01:59:32 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 7:

And I'll make this quick because I know you want to play some music. Tyson Ritter, he is the lead singer of the All-American Rejects, has launched an OnlyFans. We were just talking about him two days ago. What is he doing? Okay, so here's the deal. No full frontals or anything like that, even though I wouldn't put it past him. I've hung out with him once or twice. He used to be crazy. So here's the deal. Not in that way whatsoever. Just literally. The guy, you know this. The guy that I was dating knew him very well. Anyway, he is offering fans.

02:00:00 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 5:

exclusive behind-the-scenes content to promote the band's new single, Easy Come, Easy Go. So if you are an All-American Rejects fan, you're going to now, via OnlyFans, going to have insights into the songwriting process, his bandmates will do cameos, giveaways, backstage access to their upcoming tour with the Jonas Brothers. It's stuff like that. There's no risque anything happening on OnlyFans, which I wonder if we're going to see this more and more. You know?

02:00:28 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. So OnlyFans is not, you know, I don't know. It's not eBay.

02:00:36 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

02:00:43 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 1:

Your call may be monitored or recorded. All right, giving away a summer of cars, cash, and gas. Destiny, you're the winner. Congratulations to you, Destiny.

02:00:53 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much.

02:00:56 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 1:

We're getting you set up right now. You're getting a $50 gas card, plus you're now qualified to win a 2025 loaded Chevy Trax. Congratulations.

02:01:07 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Thank you guys so much. I love you guys.

02:01:10 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we love you, too. Where are you at, Vonda? Give it to me. We love you, too. Have a fantastic day. Enjoy the rain. Hold on one sec, okay?

02:01:22 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thank you.

02:01:23 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 1:

We'll be right back. Don't miss this.

02:01:25 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning.

02:01:26 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 1:

Hey, would you squabble up with an ex to go to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA? We've got four people that would. We'll talk to them coming up next. You've got to hear their story, plus the War of the Roses coming up next. Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Mojo in the Morning. Squabble up with your ex for a chance to go to see Kendrick SZA. Chance for you to win and go handcuffed with your ex. Would you be willing to do this? Although I really didn't have any bad exes.

02:01:56 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 5:

It depends.

02:01:56 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 1:

I don't have any.

02:01:58 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 5:

I keep saying that.

02:01:59 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 1:

It depends on which ex for you. Yeah. Yeah. To me, I never left a relationship in a bad way. I was always the one with my heart broken and they felt bad for me. I think I would, if I called, I probably got three exes that I ever have had in my life. And one of them probably would say that she never claimed me as anybody. So I don't know why I would claim her. But I think if I called and said, hey, I don't know if you remember me. They would go, yeah, we remember you. But they would probably go, yeah, we would do this. Like, I think it's interesting that people would actually still contact their ex unless they were still messing around with each other, you know?

02:02:36 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I have exes that if I see it's all love, talk occasionally, and then I have exes that, to your point, I haven't spoken to since the relationship ended. Same. It just wasn't a point. Same. Those would be the exes that I would be interested in if they would do this challenge.

02:02:52 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 1:

So.

02:02:52 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 2:

I would not even open that can of worms. Leave it in the past.

02:02:57 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 1:

If you would want to squabble up with your ex, comment on our social media with a photo of you and your ex. If you still have it, some people get rid of those. And we will get you guys on the air with us. And then if you win, the couple that wins is going to get handcuffed together to go to the show on Tuesday at Ford Field. We've got a couple that are on with us this morning. First, let's pick up here. Hold on. Ken and Emily, who are on with us. Ken and Emily, when did you guys end your relationship with each other? Good morning. Good morning. When did this relationship end, Emily?

02:03:45 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 4:

Around January, over a year ago.

02:03:48 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so January of 2024, so it's been over a year and almost a half that you guys have been no longer. Are you guys still talkative with each other, or did this contest get you guys to call each other again?

02:04:08 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're still friends. We've been friends since childhood. Wow.

02:04:12 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 2:

Who broke up with who?

02:04:13 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 4:

I guess it was me in the end. There was lots of issues, just finally threw in the towel after three years.

02:04:25 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Were you guys boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife? What were you?

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we were just dating.

02:04:31 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So you finally threw in the towel. What was it, Ken, that made her throw in the towel from your perspective?

02:04:37 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 3:

uh probably just i wasn't attentive enough yeah is she right i'm just kind of guessing to be honest

02:04:48 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 4:

yeah yeah he was always caught up in his work to the point of where he like wasn't even coming inside because he's so dark tired he's just falling asleep oh gosh that's a

02:04:57 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 5:

problem yeah

02:04:58 - 02:04:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:05:00 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 1:

Ken. What's up, Ken? What are you doing here, pal?

02:05:04 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 4:

He's a workhorse.

02:05:06 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 1:

You've got to like a guy, though, that at least works. That's nice, right?

02:05:10 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So what's the current situation for both of you?

02:05:14 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 2:

We're still just friends. As far as what? Single? Yeah.

02:05:18 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Married, single.

02:05:20 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm single. I'm just enjoying being single. And what about you?

02:05:25 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Wait, real quick. Have you gone on any dates in the year and a half?

02:05:28 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 2:

oh yeah okay yeah but i'm not really seriously dating yeah are you just casual let's have sex with girls when you don't work uh for the most part i mean when we split up i moved to a lake house and bought a boat oh so i'm just kind of having some fun all right i want to be friends

02:05:49 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

with ken what about uh enjoying my life what about you emily uh i have been seeing someone

02:05:57 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 5:

off and on it's messy and the dating scene scares the crap out of me so yeah i've just been off and on with the same person since so have you been to the lake house oh yeah yeah it's a funny story we share a dog still so

02:06:16 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 4:

has anything ever happened on one of those visits to the lake house

02:06:22 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 5:

uh maybe early on in the breakup yeah yeah who initiates it it's just we we get that look we know you get that look yeah look so so your relationship

02:06:37 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 1:

that you're in right now emily would they be okay with you handcuffed to ken for the kendrick and SZA concert?

02:06:45 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 2:

They hate the idea that we share a dog, so.

02:06:47 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so this would not go over well at all. So you know this person.

02:06:52 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

This is going to be good. I don't know him. He knows you. I just know of him. Oh, yeah, he knows me well.

02:06:59 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 4:

Wait, there's a story. What's the well?

02:07:01 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they know each other, but they've never seen it.

02:07:05 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 1:

This is going to be a good one, too. This is another great one here. I like this. Ken and Emily right now, exes for a year and a half. Emily in a relationship. Ken banging every girl he can at the lake house. All right, let's meet another couple. Oh, these are good ones. I always like this. There's nothing better than gay couples. Gay couples are great because gay couples add a little bit of drama to things. Kathleen and Ella are on with us this morning. Kathleen and Ella, who broke up with who? Kathleen or Ella, who wants to speak?

02:07:39 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Ella broke up with me.

02:07:41 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 1:

Kathleen, you got broken up on by Ella, that bitch.

02:07:45 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 3:

I know, right?

02:07:46 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 1:

What was the story, Ella? Why did you break up?

02:07:50 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 3:

Um, I mean, it was just, like, a long thing, but then, you know, what, like, was, like, the final straw, I'd say?

02:07:59 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:07:59 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, we were supposed to go to Bonnaroo together, and we had the tickets, and she told me she wasn't going anymore.

02:08:06 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, sound like Bjorn. What was she doing instead?

02:08:10 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Was there some cheating involved? No.

02:08:14 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 1:

What's the story?

02:08:17 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I just, listen, I was scared about spending the money. But we already did. Okay, but I'm getting laid off from my job.

02:08:29 - 02:08:30 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:08:30 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

So I just panicked about the money. I didn't know what to do. I don't know.

02:08:38 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 1:

She's responsible. She's a responsible person. Did you communicate that to your partner?

02:08:41 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

But the money's already spent. The money's been spent.

02:08:45 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 4:

What does Chipotle have to do with you guys? I'm reading some notes here.

02:08:49 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? I didn't get any notes.

02:08:51 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 4:

It just says Chipotle. Ella broke up with me in a Chipotle. In a Chipotle? That's a travesty. Really? It was bad. It was really bad.

02:09:00 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. Do you pay extra for that like you do guacamole?

02:09:06 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 4:

She said of.

02:09:08 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Kathleen, do you miss being in Ella's arms?

02:09:15 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know, sometimes. I'll be real.

02:09:18 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah? How long has it been? When did you guys break up? How long ago was it?

02:09:22 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 4:

We broke up end of February. Oh, so it's freshie. Are either of you seeing anybody else? I'm not.

02:09:31 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Have y'all hooked up since you've broken up?

02:09:34 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 4:

No. No, I actually broke no contacts. on tuesday to wish her a happy birthday oh that's sweet and then i told her i sent us in for this

02:09:45 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

this is good you know what this could actually be a good situation because if you guys win this contest and get handcuffed together it's either going to be one of two things either you guys are going to fight all over again or you guys are going to get back together and you guys are going

02:10:00 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 2:

invite us to the wedding. That is so true. I like it. This is a good one. This is actually a good one. All right, so Kathleen and Ella here. Where are you guys from?

02:10:13 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm from Shelby Township.

02:10:14 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And who was that, Ella or Kathleen that said that?

02:10:19 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

That was Kathleen.

02:10:20 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Kathleen. Where are you from, Ella?

02:10:21 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 1:

New Baltimore.

02:10:22 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you guys still live in the same area. You guys still hang out. Probably the same friends too, right? You guys have a good friendship base that's all still the same?

02:10:30 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, we met at Central Michigan University. Fire up, chips. Yep, fire up.

02:10:39 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 2:

Does it cause for any issues with your friends when everybody wants to go out as a group and they're bringing Ella or Kathleen? What's going on?

02:10:48 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 1:

No. No. Not yet, at least. It hasn't happened yet.

02:10:52 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 2:

Somebody told me, and this is Pride Month. I want to be positive with Pride Month. Somebody told me that lesbians fight like crazy. Is that true? Yes, it was for us. I've heard that. I always thought that if I was a lesbian, I would just be in the arms of a beautiful woman my whole life. But I heard that you guys get kind of crazy when it comes to this stuff. Is that true? Wouldn't you love to be in the arms of a beautiful woman for the rest of your life?

02:11:22 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for sure.

02:11:23 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 2:

And be a beautiful woman, too.

02:11:25 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 4:

That second part, I'm good. I'm good.

02:11:27 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 2:

All right, Kathleen and Ella, you guys are in this contest. I like them. This is a good one. Lydia told me I was going to – she goes, Mojo, I got contestants tomorrow that you're going to like. No offense, Ken and Emily. And I said, why is that? And she goes, it's a lesbian couple. I go, oh, I like it already.

02:11:42 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 4:

See, but there's some undercover drama here because a simple I can't go to Bonnaroo can't be the only reason why you broke it. No, there's a story.

02:11:49 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 2:

No, no, there's something there. There's something fishy.

02:11:54 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I think it was just a buildup of, like, a lot of other things. And then, like, getting laid off, and we were already fighting so much.

02:12:02 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's get you guys back together. You guys are a cute couple. I saw your pictures. You guys are cute. All right.

02:12:07 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 4:

Have some SZA6 at the concert. Yes. There's no SZA6.

02:12:12 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

So, wait, is it Kathleen that's the bigger Kendrick and SZA fan, or who is it?

02:12:18 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 1:

Kathleen is a bigger SZA fan, a bigger Kendrick fan. Okay, this is good. See that?

02:12:23 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 2:

We're bringing you guys together. All right. Hang on the phone, guys. We guys, we got you in this contest. We're really excited about this. I love the idea that whoever wins, the X's are going to be handcuffed together. It's crazy. Go to our social media and enter this contest. Hold on. Thanks, guys.

02:12:37 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WS&X Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:12:52 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 2:

Hey, real quick, I'd like to throw this out there, And we're going to hope for an appearance today by the wonderful celebrity himself. But Jay Towers is doing a cereal drive at the Kroger in Royal Oak right now. He is currently at that Kroger in Royal Oak collecting boxes of cereal to help kids in the Detroit area during the summertime that normally would be fed by the schools that they will get food for themselves, you know, through these cereals. Which Kroger? The Kroger Royal Oak, I'm told.

02:13:24 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 1:

So I'm guessing Woodward and Noble.

02:13:28 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 2:

I think it's the big one there. I think it might be the really nice one in Royal Oak. What about the Oak? I don't know. I don't know. Tony Travato just said Kroger and Royal Oak. But we're going to have Jay call the show and talk to us. But I'd like to make sure that we get people out there sooner than when he calls and bring cereal out there. You can actually make cash donations, too. So please do it. It's Kroger Marketplace over there. Shannon just said it's off a 12-mile. And you can meet Fox 2 Detroit and 100.3 WNIC's Jay Towers, along with Jay's entire show of Allison and Chelsea, who are out there.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Bang.

02:14:11 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 2:

And Captain Crunch.

02:14:12 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 4:

Which Captain Crunch? Berries or the regular?

02:14:14 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 2:

Regular. It ruins your mouth, but it feels so good.

02:14:17 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 4:

Berries, bro. It does. The roof of your mouth is done. Who needs the roof? Zach, what did you say in my ear?

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 2:

Fruity Pebbles for Zach.

02:14:23 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I do love some Fruity Pebbles. That's a Josiah favorite.

02:14:26 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:14:27 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 3:

02:16:33 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 3:

Sandra, who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with?

02:16:38 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 1:

I think it's our cleaning lady.

02:16:43 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 3:

So you have somebody that comes and cleans your house?

02:16:46 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 1:

yeah i hired her like maybe six months ago or so i mean she's supposed to come once a week um but lately she's been coming over and she doesn't tell me and she's there at times when

02:17:01 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 3:

she's not scheduled to be there well is he there when she's cleaning

02:17:06 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

uh well coincidentally it's on the days when he's working from home and the only reason i even know is because I see her coming on the rink camera. Did you ask him? Or did you ask her what she's doing? Yeah, and they both were full of excuses and different things, and none of it adds up or makes any sense.

02:17:30 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

So when she comes over to the house on the days that she is not supposed to be there cleaning up, is your house clean? I mean, is she cleaning? And is she charging you for coming?

02:17:44 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm not paying her, and I think the house is as clean as it should be for the fact that we're getting it cleaned once a week.

02:17:53 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever seen them interact with one another, or is your suspicion only because you've seen her at your house on a ring cam on days where she technically isn't scheduled?

02:18:04 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just the ring cam where I've never been, like the three of us have never been there at the same time where I can kind of see what they're like together, I guess. i mean the weird thing to me is that they both had no explanation that right off the bat is the

02:18:19 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 3:

biggest red flag well why don't we do this we're gonna uh we came up with the idea of doing a three-way call where we're gonna try to call both of them up why don't we let that call happen and see what's going on uh because okay we'll see if they do communicate with each other just by the reaction that they have to you know thinking that each other called them uh when we do these uh these three-way calls. So hang on the phone for a second, mute your phone, and we're going to dial both of their numbers up at the same time and see what they sound like when they're talking.

02:19:08 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello? Sorry, can you hear me? Yeah, yeah, what's up? Sorry, I don't recognize your number for some reason. Who is this? you called me i mean this is you called me this is liam i called you no it looks like you actually called me it's liam no yeah hey what's up oh that is so weird i don't know why your phone number like obviously how do you save that's so weird

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 5:

Anyway, you called me.

02:20:01 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 4:

I got a call from you, I swear. No, I swear I got a call from you. But all right. Well, hello. How are you?

02:20:07 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 5:

I don't know what's in the atmosphere today. Okay.

02:20:09 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, something's bringing us together, I guess. You're still coming up, right?

02:20:18 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 5:

I tell you all the time, you're my favorite client. And I was actually, it's so funny. I think there is something going on because I was just thinking about you.

02:20:26 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Oh, really? What's up? Yeah.

02:20:29 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 5:

What am I?

02:20:30 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I'll be working from home this week again, so I'm hoping you make your appointment, you know. Are you going to be there?

02:20:54 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 1:

Liam?

02:20:56 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Who's this?

02:20:59 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 1:

Liam, this is the Mojo in the morning show. And we were calling you up and also calling up Allison to see what you guys sounded like talking to each other. But Allison's phone was obviously all messed up. You could hear the phone kind of crackling and it ended up disconnecting. What were you meaning by what you just said just a second ago?

02:21:28 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 4:

i'm sorry who am i taught you so you're mojo in the morning like a radio show mojo in the morning

02:21:35 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 1:

this is mojo in the morning we're a radio show and we were and we were doing a thing called the war of the roses and it was a call that we made to you and made to allison because your wife sandra is on the phone and thinks that there's something going on between you and her and he's done the uh we can't control the phone and we can't control what her phone sounds like obviously the moment that it started crackling i'm thinking to myself what's going on where is it coming from because i didn't know if it was her phone or his phone but sandra you could hear the conversation between the two of those guys they talk all the time absolutely you can tell I mean, she acted in the beginning like she didn't know who it was, and that's the only reason why she didn't get friendly in the beginning. She didn't have any clue because it shows up as an unidentified call calling her.

02:22:38 - 02:23:02 | Speaker 3:

I have no doubt that there's something there. I don't want this to come off any kind of way, but are you and him around the same age? No, I'm much older. About 12 years older. Is the woman that's clean in the house, is she more around his age? She is.

02:23:03 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 1:

So you think that there's...

02:23:05 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 3:

He sounds young.

02:23:06 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And listen, I think you're young too, but obviously it seems like they're definitely sounding like they have some kind of a connection with each other. Hang on one second and let's have conversation more, okay?

02:23:21 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:23:23 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning, War of the Roses, busting a cheater, a husband, cheating with the lady who cleans their house, the maid and uh the situation that you just heard with a three-way call got kind of interesting a lot of people are like what happened what happened well the phone line obviously was not a great line you could hear kind of the static that was on there when we called the maid and um then she got disconnected and trying to make some calls here to get them on Sandra, when you bring somebody into your house, obviously, you don't want them stealing from you. And that's not just your personal items. I mean, that's your spouse, your husband.

02:28:57 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:28:58 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 4:

How trustworthy are you normally at letting somebody come in your house and just being there, especially another woman with your husband?

02:29:09 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 7:

i mean i guess you know i'm very social i do have a very open home i think what is the worst part of this whole thing is that i actually have i trust my husband i have trusted my husband i never thought about him being alone at home with the cleaning lady i mean she's one thing like do i want to beat her ass absolutely in this moment but him like he's my husband how the did he do this to me so i have a question for you when you when you would

02:29:44 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 8:

correspond with her it was just it was you doing all the scheduling and stuff he never had any part in that yeah initially i'm the one that hired her and picked her and right so that's where i'm going to is he it didn't seem weird that she was calling Thank you.

02:30:00 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 1:

that she already has his phone number and he had her phone number. Do you know what I mean? So somewhere along the line, they, they on the side exchanged phone numbers.

02:30:10 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 5:

Can I bring up something that's a little touchy? And Kev pointed this out when we made the phone call. Has the age difference between the two of you ever been something that you worried about?

02:30:22 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 6:

Never. I mean, maybe, maybe when we first started dating, you know, I think that that's kind of like something you think about in the very beginning. but i'm i'm confident we've had a great relationship we have a great sex life we i mean there there is nothing that would ever make me think you've never seen him look at or talk to uh women that are younger than you not that i'm aware of not that as ever i i yeah no you know

02:30:53 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 3:

So prior to your relationship, if he only dated women that were older than him, or are you his first cougar?

02:31:07 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 6:

I think he's dated, you know, in various age ranges. Maybe I'm one of the older women.

02:31:16 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 5:

We tried to call her back a bunch of times so that the listeners know, and we tried to call him back, and we're not getting anything. Hang on one second, okay, Sandra?

02:31:27 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:31:31 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 5:

I guess I'm looking at texts right now. And, Jennifer, I think you text in about the who hired one, right? That was yours. Jennifer?

02:31:43 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

02:31:44 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:31:44 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's my quote. Sorry, I had a breath on. Just leave it in the gym.

02:31:48 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 5:

Ooh, was that a big weight that just went down at that moment? That was like a big slam.

02:31:54 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 7:

That was the door.

02:31:55 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that was the door. Yeah.

02:31:56 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 7:

No, well, my question is, like, who found her and who hired her? Was it her or her?

02:32:00 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 5:

She just answered that. We just talked to her, yeah.

02:32:02 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 1:

She was the only one that would ever correspond with her.

02:32:05 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 7:

02:32:22 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I will say this to you, that this is one of those situations where a ring camera again busts somebody. And I don't know how you think you're not going to get caught when you see on the camera that you're coming over on a day that you're not supposed to be there. And also, my wife just texted and said, can I please have the name of the cleaning lady, any cleaning lady that wants to come on more days than she normally comes?

02:32:46 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 4:

No, she wouldn't say that. We like what we got here. Hold on a second. Hold on, George. Where's George? Is George there? Hi, George.

02:32:56 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 5:

Yes, sir. How are you, Mojo? George, you think...

02:32:58 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 2:

Four red flags?

02:33:00 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:33:00 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 2:

Four red flags I saw, Mojo. Go ahead.

02:33:02 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 5:

I'll count them.

02:33:03 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 2:

Four. He got her... They swapped numbers. Soon her voice changed. Soon she realized who he was. The other one where... The other one where's where right away she said to him, oh, I was just thinking about you. And his voice changed right away. all like oh yeah when you're coming over like that was all red flags i mean and what was number four you just did three oh i'm sorry number four was soon soon they she showed up when she wasn't supposed to and it was yeah yeah yeah they didn't have an excuse why they showed up george what do

02:33:37 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 5:

you think about the age difference that that that when people doesn't matter i'm married my wife

02:33:42 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 2:

and me eight years apart and i'm the older guy okay i've never had a problem with younger guys

02:33:46 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 5:

She said 10 years, 8 years, you know, potato, patata. But I think that it's one of those situations where you hear, and I don't know what she looks like, and I'm asking Lydia to get for me if she can her Facebook page because I want to see what she looks like. Because they do sound drastically different in age. And, Kevin, that was a good point, I think, to bring up, that sometimes if somebody is in a relationship where there is a drastic difference in age or a difference in how you are...

02:34:18 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 2:

Especially when it comes to women, the mojo. When women are the older, the guys want to go for the younger. Well, that's what I'm wondering.

02:34:27 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 5:

That's what I... You know what, George? That's exactly where I'm going on this one here. You'd probably see women who are the younger ones cheating less with the older guys than you do seeing guys who are the younger ones cheating because they're with an older woman.

02:34:40 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 1:

And this was so easy for him. Proximity. she was there all the time and he was home and nobody else was home

02:34:45 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

I wonder how long they've been together too

02:34:47 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 5:

Hey Rob, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses

02:34:50 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning guys

02:34:54 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 5:

Good morning

02:34:54 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, all I had to say was I think a lot of times people call in and they're unsure but i think she already knew what what was going to come of this and i hope with the closure she got from it she can kind of make her decision about moving on yeah it's uh it's a good point it's really nice of you to say uh you kind of hope that she at least can get even more answers to this though i can tell you this yeah that's the last time allison's cleaning that house so right especially if she did a good job same loser you know what's funny you'd almost rather lose your spouse uh you know he's he's probably more uh able to be lost than uh than the lady cleaning your house uh what's up angela it's mojo in the morning war of the roses want to

02:35:44 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 5:

make a comment yeah hey how's it going i just have a comment for the lady that's a little bit older and i feel so terribly bad saying this but uh i just recently divorced my husband and he was 17 years older than me we were together for 20 years what was it did you find a younger guy no I didn't actually it wasn't even about that for me um but like but the age difference did play a big factor in it because he was older and I was younger his friends were older mine were younger he didn't want to hang out with them they didn't want to hang out with him so it conflicted everything so when it when I just got tired of it I just was tired of it now that i'm free from that i feel a little bit better and i want to be around people my age and i'm sorry to like say it to her like that but that's honestly what it is how old were you how old were you when you guys met i was 18 and he was 35 yeah being 35 with an 18 year old and

02:36:43 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 3:

then being 55 with a 35 year old is completely different yeah like the conversations at that time like where are y'all relating you know what i mean he probably doesn't want to go out as much

02:36:54 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 5:

it was just one accident and we took care of our accidents together for a long time you know what i mean so we took care of our responsibility together our relationship was kind of weird too because i don't feel like i was ever really in love with them i was just we were just together because we were taking care of our responsibility but i never cheated on him i was loyal to him i worked my ass off we did a lot together our kids are almost grown um so you know i had to write divorce i got the wrong end of it but i mean i'm happy with the outcome but i'm telling you it really was the age difference and there was just something going on where what age range are you dating now angela oh my gosh people are weird answer the question i'm telling you 38 and 42

02:37:36 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 2:

that is it that's it so her age you're dating your age i don't don't be messing with the older dudes anymore, Angela. Even though older guys can go longer than younger guys can.

02:37:51 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 5:

You wish.

02:37:55 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 2:

She's talking to my wife.

02:37:57 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 5:

Thank you very much for having a wonderful day.

02:38:01 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Alyssa?

02:38:04 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:38:05 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 2:

Hi. What's going on?

02:38:06 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 4:

I'm in a 17-year-age gap marriage. My husband is 17 years older than me, and And my motto has always been, if you can take them, you can have them.

02:38:16 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 2:

I'll fill it out. I like that. I'll fill it out. Yeah. It's kind of like, you know, when you leave stuff at the curb that you want somebody just to grab. Please pick it up. That's your guy, right? Is that what you're saying?

02:38:28 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 4:

Yep. Yep.

02:38:30 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, take care of yourself. Thank you. All right. Mojo in the morning, War of the Roses. Could you ever see yourself with a 17-year younger woman or older woman?

02:38:42 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like those experiences can only last for so long. I feel like that has an expiration date. Unless you find that one that's true love. That's the high school girl for you right now, by the way. Yeah, let's put that in there. Okay, so the answer's a big no.

02:38:56 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 2:

I think I would rather 17 years older than younger. I would rather the older one just because the knowledge you get out of the whole deal. They're not a mentor. No, but also I feel like you've been through everything. The younger one, if you're with somebody that's 17 to 20 years younger than you, I feel like you're always having to almost parent them too. And I just don't know if I'd want to do that.

02:39:18 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like that energy that they have at that time. Like, that's why when a girl says she was 18 or whatever, he was 35, like, you still have some energy at that time. But 20 years from there, you're not going to be that same person.

02:39:30 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, Shannon?

02:40:29 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry to my husband. I have to do the story. Last night, the Edmonton Oilers erased a multi-goal deficit to beat the defending champion, Florida Panthers, in game one of the Stanley Cup final. Yeah!

02:40:41 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 2:

Is he not an Edmonton Oilers fan? He's a Leafs fan. I can't believe I'm saying that out loud. He's probably going to jump. Does he not root for Canada, for his country? Yeah, kind of.

02:40:51 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Back to me, he was amazing last night. The David, it's good! I'm not a big hockey guy. Yes. Not a big hockey guy at all. Sometimes I'll, you know, watch the wings occasionally. When it comes down to this, Stanley Cup Finals, bro, it is the most exciting level of sport you'll find.

02:41:11 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 2:

So this is actually a good Finals because it's the rematch from last year that went seven games.

02:41:15 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Florida won. Yeah, Florida won. Game two tomorrow night in Edmonton.

02:41:19 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm rooting for Florida because I want to see that everybody, in the country up north who thinks that they invented hockey not win a stanley cup let's bet 50 on a day i'll take edmonton all right you take edmonton i'll take florida and uh we're rooting against canada we're rooting uh for the uh the florida panthers canada has not won a stanley cup in more than two decades yeah it's been a long time it's time any dirty story that has

02:41:51 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 1:

Glenn Powell in it, I am doing because I love him. So on the premiere episode of her new E! show, Honestly Cavallari, the headline to her, Kristen Cavallari's best friend, Justin Anderson, follow him on Instagram, by the way, if you don't, he's hysterical, revealed that she quote-unquote hooked up with Glenn Powell. Apparently they met while they were partying in Greece. It led to just hanging out for the night. Now she clarified they did not have sex, but they dry humped.

02:42:18 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hell no. I'm not believing it.

02:42:20 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 1:

I love that the phrase dry humped got used.

02:42:23 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

We're not doing that. I mean, it was something. I'll be so mad.

02:42:27 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 1:

Kylie Jenner's recent TikTok about her breast augmentation. We talked to you about this yesterday. Has led to a surge in consultation requests for her surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher. So she shared that she received, and I'll say it again because people truly write it down. 445 cc's, a moderate profile silicone implants placed partially under the muscle. That was her order, okay? And she credited this Dr. Fisher for the procedure. Well, his Beverly Hills office is now getting upwards of 250 calls per day since she told the world about that over the past couple of days. And fun fact, this breast surgeon did her mom, Kris Jenner's, first facelift. Not the most recent one she had. I'd hire the second guy. Interesting connection. The second guy turned her into somebody I never thought I'd ever see.

02:43:21 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 3:

02:43:22 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 1:

Lots of people excited about the Switch 2 drop last night. People waiting in line for hours, some for months. Three, two, one.

02:43:33 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 4:

Overnight, video game fans lining up for hours for the release of the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Some lining up for days, even months. Hey, y'all. It's your boy, Chicken Dog. It's day 16 for Nintendo Switch 2. Never felt more unemployed in my life, but, you know, it's good timing, I guess. This guy needs a drink of water. The console retails for $449.99. And some new games, including Mario Kart, will cost a whopping $80. But those prices aren't likely to keep gamers away. Nintendo is expecting to sell 15 million Switch 2s over the next year. A lot of money.

02:44:47 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 1:

Will you buy one, Kev? No, I'm good. Will Josiah into it?

02:44:51 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean, if he asks, I'll get that kid everything. I literally just bought a gaming PC during that last commercial break. Did you really? Did you really? Yeah, would you buy it? I'll get one for his mom's house. Aw.

02:45:00 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 1:

We are giving away switches, so keep listening to them.

02:45:03 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 4:

I think this happened at our sister station in New York City, Z100. Miley Cyrus, I love her. She was performing for a real small crowd at the station. Forgot the words to her own song. Listen to this.

02:45:18 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 2:

We were gone. Gone. Had a dream that can't be so. We were right Till we won Built a home See, I never know if it's home or house How do y'all believe you? I don't know How do you know my lyrics better than me? Started to cry They remembered I

02:45:45 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Isn't that great? You forget your own words to this song.

02:45:49 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 4:

Still a good song.

02:45:50 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:45:51 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 4:

Still not sick of that song.

02:45:54 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 1:

That's great.

02:45:55 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, this is for my friend Justin. Yesterday, we got the trailer for Wicked 2. It is called Wicked for Good. When's it coming out? November 21st.

02:46:08 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 2:

This is between the wizard and I.

02:46:15 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 1:

And they're just going to pick up where they left off, or what do they got going on?

02:46:18 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 2:

The Wicked Witch can't elude us forever. not with Prince Fierro and his squadron hot on her train. Life's good deed goes unpunished. That's my life.

02:46:30 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 1:

That's the last movie I saw, by the way. I've not seen a movie in the movie theater since Wicked 2. I don't know. I want everything more than I did.

02:46:39 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It just...

02:46:41 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Shanna, will you go see both

02:46:43 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 3:

in the same day? Like, back to back?

02:46:45 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. But I want to... I'm going to see Wicked 2. Yeah. That would be kind of fun. As soon as I possibly can.

02:46:50 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure Imagine will have, like, a doubleheader. That would be great.

02:46:53 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 1:

My favorite used to be.

02:46:54 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, they're long.

02:46:54 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 1:

When Chelsea and I, before we ended up having those brain-sucking kids, you know, in our lives, we used to go see three movies together on a Friday. Right after the show, go see three movies in a row, which was the best. Oh, look at that.

02:47:09 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 3:

These are my movie tickets since April 23rd.

02:47:13 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Imagine gave you a whole bunch of freebies?

02:47:14 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. This is, like, how many times I've actually gone and seen them.

02:47:17 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those are your tips. Okay.

02:47:18 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 3:

These are, like, my stuff. Oh, my gosh. You save your stubs. I do, yeah. I'm going to make, like, this collage thing all the times I go.

02:47:25 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing.

02:47:25 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

The majority of them are with Joe, so that's kind of funny.

02:47:27 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 1:

Tomorrow, giving away $500 at 8 o'clock, throwback throwdown, as Shannon goes for four in a row.

02:47:32 - 02:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Has that ever happened? No, we've never had a four in a row, ever, with anybody on the show.

02:47:36 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be big. Shannon will be the first tomorrow.

02:47:39 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 4:

Did you know what you were calling up for, or were you just calling up?

02:48:17 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

I've been trying to call you guys. I've been trying to do them for a long time. So, like, I'm like, the chances that I normally would get on here, I was like, I'm just going to do it for this one. Yeah. I'll take it.

02:48:53 - 02:48:54 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:48:54 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Hang on one second. We'll get some information. I love when a listener just goes nuts because they know they're winning. Oh, my God, I'm going to win. I picked up. And then you've got to know, and it goes, oh. I get that. It's Mojo in the morning show. This is actually very funny. Tell me what the social media etiquette is to this and your thoughts on this one. So, my wife Chelsea posted a picture up on her Instagram, and it was a very beautiful picture of Chelsea out in the sun, okay? Oh, I saw that. That is a beautiful picture. Gorgeous picture. Love this picture. I get a text message, and I'll read it right from my phone. This is from Misfit Victor, who writes a text message to me and says, As a friend, am I allowed to like this photo with a picture put in the text? of chelsea so i answer him back you better so victor is on with us right now with my wife chelsea whose photo victor wanted to know if he could like uh chelsea are you there chels

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Chelsea, say hello to Misfit Victor, who's on with us.

02:50:05 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Chelsea. Long time, first time.

02:50:11 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 3:

Victor, I like the etiquette, though. I like the fact that you reached out to me and asked if it was okay, instead of just right away just liking the thing.

02:50:23 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 4:

That's one of those pictures that when you're just sitting on a couch or whatever on your throne or whatever, and you're tapping the stories, and all of a sudden in your head you hear, like, the brakes screech. Hold on, let me back up. And I'm like, do I like this? Do I put a fire emoji, heart emoji, eggplant? What do I need? What do I say? So I'm like, I'm going to ask Tom first.

02:50:52 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, is it weird? Like, would it be weird if this was Tina's picture and I like Tina's picture? Would you be thinking that I look like a creeper?

02:51:02 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 6:

You love and like everyone's photos, so it wouldn't be weird.

02:51:06 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 3:

I know, but you called me out for this with Terry, who's Joe's producer on the Joe show, that I liked.

02:51:13 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 6:

Because she's 17, basically. She's not. And you were liking her bikini photos. Yeah.

02:51:19 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:51:19 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I was a little creepy.

02:51:21 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Come on. I don't think it's creepy. Do you have to ask, and let's tell me, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, like if somebody's girlfriend or boyfriend's picture is up and it's like a picture of them, like a guy in a bodybuilding picture or a woman in a picture like this with Chelsea, like where she's in her bathing suit, do you have to ask or is it okay just to like it?

02:51:43 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 2:

I think it's worse to ask. I think if you ask, you're kind of putting a little bit too much energy into it.

02:51:48 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 5:

I think if you're contemplating having to ask, maybe just in your head, go, that's a really nice picture. You don't need to like it.

02:51:55 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 3:

Do you think Victor had dirty thoughts in his head when he was looking at this picture?

02:51:58 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 5:

It was on his back photo, by the way.

02:52:01 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 3:

It's a beautiful photo. No, it's a beautiful photo. Sexy.

02:52:04 - 02:52:04 | Speaker 5:

I don't think Victor...

02:52:04 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

It's very artsy.

02:52:06 - 02:52:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

02:52:08 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 2:

Very demure.

02:52:08 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 3:

Victor, what did you see when you saw that photo? What were you looking at?

02:52:13 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 4:

Her hat?

02:52:16 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 5:

Everything above the neck. It is a cute hat.

02:52:18 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 3:

Above the neck. Were you looking at her hat or her breasts? I'm like, are those new sunglasses?

02:52:25 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't wearing sunglasses, but I don't have breasts. Okay, let's just start with that. And there's a story behind that photo. It was my TikTok got hacked a long time ago, so then I got a new TikTok. And when you post a photo to TikTok, it recommends audio. And I loved the audio that went with that photo that it recommended. So I tried to post it to my story, which only the photo got posted, not the audio.

02:52:54 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 3:

What was the audio? What was the song that was recommended?

02:52:58 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 6:

Just like about living your best life. You know, you decided to live your best life and you're not putting up with crap. And I loved the audio to it. And it just didn't translate over, unfortunately. But it was just a story. It didn't matter. It went away.

02:53:12 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 3:

It wasn't TLC's Creep that was on there for Victor at all? No? Or Stacey's mom.

02:53:19 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 6:

I'm never going to post another photo again.

02:53:22 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 3:

No, don't do that. I love it. I love it. Victor, by the way, you know me. You know how they say me casa, su casa? Yes. Me wife, your wife.

02:53:33 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you. That's the same model that Chelsea and I share also.

02:53:43 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 3:

All right. You guys behave yourselves, okay?

02:53:45 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 4:

I got to go back in line. I'm waiting to buy a Switch 2, and then after I'm going to go wait in line for a Wicked 2 ticket.

02:53:52 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 3:

I'll talk to you guys later. Real quick, you want to hear another great story? So do we know, is Crystal here? Let me look over it. Is the birthday girl Crystal here?

02:54:03 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she is. I feel so bad. I didn't know yesterday was her birthday, and I let her into the building. I didn't even say happy birthday.

02:54:07 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 3:

So this is an interesting story that kind of tales that story. So Crystal yesterday posted, like, a million photos of herself, and all these photos were her, like, looking hot as ever.

02:54:19 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if I follow her.

02:54:20 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 3:

And I wished her a happy birthday, and I liked the photo, but I felt kind of weird about it, like, when I was liking it. Come on in here, birthday girl. What's happening? Hey.

02:54:30 - 02:54:32 | Speaker 5:

And the heck do I not follow you? Now I follow you.

02:54:32 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 3:

By the way, how come I was not invited to this party of a bunch of girls wearing nothing, basically, huh?

02:54:40 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 1:

We did have on stuff. We had on pink.

02:54:42 - 02:54:46 | Speaker 3:

You guys did, but you guys were wearing, like, pink lingerie.

02:54:46 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that was my, yeah. No, I did a Pilates in pink. It was fun, though.

02:54:50 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you're wearing, like, in the bedroom stuff. Yeah.

02:54:54 - 02:54:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's a corset and some tights.

02:54:58 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:54:58 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 5:

I mean, if I wore that, Wes.

02:55:00 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 2:

would go what's what's going on no my husband loves sexy so okay your husband very lucky guy this guy is a lucky you know i don't think i've ever met your husband have i ever really you haven't i don't think so i'd like to because i want to know i want to know this guy's deal because holy cow crystal posts these pictures and i'm like i wonder if he gets to see this at home before she takes photos of them oh he he does he doesn't mind at all so i heard uh through the grapevine basically through zach who said that's the grapevine i heard that you had a themed party in your cake even was a picture of you on the cake in a sexy outfit and your husband had a

02:55:38 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 4:

problem with it is that true so it was actually funny because i asked zach advice i'm like if your girl had a birthday cake with herself on it you know so pretty much it came about because my husband he's like yeah take your cake to your pilates party and he's like you and your girls eat it and i'm like uh the theme is um pink i'm like my birthday cake was black and white yeah i went with the photo shoot yeah and he's like well we're not eating it here and i'm like why he's like my boys aren't eating a cake with you on it like your sexy picture but it's i didn't even well you have to see the cake i think everyone's thinking i'm like laying on a flat sheet cake with the cherry in my mouth it's it's a round heart cake like a little personal cake with photos of me around the outside. Those photos, though? No. But it is like sexy photos. Is there something wrong with that?

02:56:32 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm going to have to cut it for them. They can't be eating certain parts in the pictures.

02:56:36 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 2:

They would be eating your toes if that was the thing. I would give them your feet. I'd give them your knee.

02:56:42 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 4:

But it's not like that. They're like around, like of me just standing up around the face.

02:56:46 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but somebody's still eating your boobies. That's the thing.

02:56:48 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 2:

It's the symbolism of me. What's your husband's first name? Tony. Tony, Tony, I don't want any, we just talked about Chelsea, I don't want somebody eating my wife's boob. I don't want it. Like, why are you chewing like this?

02:57:01 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 4:

He goes, I just can't imagine one of my friends taking a bite without me slapping it out of

02:57:06 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 2:

my hand. Well, and then also your son. I love him. You don't want your son eating your cake, right? No, I wouldn't give it, no, I wouldn't give it to my kid. No son wants to eat his mom's cake.

02:57:17 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 1:

Your friend over here like, mmm.

02:57:18 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 2:

is tony a jealous guy because i not at all i have to be quite honest with you i don't know if i could be tony like i like i see some of the stuff that you'll post sometimes and as a guy who is kind of a jealous guy and feels insignificant all the time whenever i'm out and about with my wife yeah i would feel really awkward over some of the photos that you post my husband is one of

02:57:39 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 4:

those um he loved like i'm a girl's girl but my husband is very like let my hair like it's time fulfilling you're not getting your nails done like he his mindset is whatever the cost of beauty pay it like he doesn't like he supports whatever i want so like i've gotten like my boobs free dudes

02:57:57 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 1:

like he's for all of it i feel like it's two guys in relationships when you deal with a woman that likes to showcase how sexy she is online either you're about that life and you like show it off like yeah this is my this is my queen this is my trophy or you like cover all that up hot and all

02:58:14 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 4:

Like, he likes sexy, like sweats and stuff. He's like, ugh.

02:58:19 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 1:

But it's different when it's on display.

02:58:21 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:58:22 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 3:

For other people.

02:58:23 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. To consume. Like, he could like you, but on Instagram.

02:58:26 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 2:

Would he get jealous if his guys, if his buddies were commenting on your picture? Oh, you could comment.

02:58:32 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 4:

Like, some of his boys follow me and stuff like that. Yeah.

02:58:35 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 2:

Does he look and see if they like your stuff?

02:58:38 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 4:

He's not like a social media guy like that. He has probably like a little page that he looks from. Alert. He's not a social guy.

02:58:46 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 2:

So he's got his finsta that he's looking at his buddies. Yeah, probably so. Call him up, go to kill you.

02:58:50 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 1:

You don't have to like every picture you see. Yeah. I don't know why people feel like you have to double tap the screen. You can just look.

02:58:57 - 02:59:01 | Speaker 3:

That's what I said to Victor. You can in your head go, that's a beautiful photo.

02:59:01 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 2:

But you understand the reason. Like yesterday was your birthday, and I wrote you a happy birthday on there too. I felt like yesterday because it was your birthday, because she posts stuff just because it's Tuesday or something sometimes. And I won't like those pictures, even though their pictures are great, because I don't want to look like the pervert guy from this studio down the hall.

02:59:19 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 4:

I think it's the difference between a like and a comment. I think you can like a picture. Like, I think if you like, that's a support. But now when you start putting stars and, like, in a past relationship, I've had a guy, he would put, like, stars under girls' pictures. And I'm like, what does star mean? And he's like, I'm like, to me, that means shining, golden, like, star. like that's unnecessary but a like

02:59:43 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 3:

and actually in Mojo's case for yesterday for your birthday I feel like he didn't need to like the photo him just writing happy birthday which would be better than the like actually

02:59:52 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 2:

go back to the cake for a second did you bring any leftover cake in and if so did you have ice cream with the cake

03:00:00 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm actually going to show y'all the cake. If you see the cake, you're going to see it. It's in the last slide of that. It's like that little round. I think everyone's thinking that it's like laid out or something like that. This is the cake right here. Oh, no. Crystal?

03:00:17 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:00:17 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 1:

That is exactly what I was thinking.

03:00:20 - 03:00:21 | Speaker 2:

Look at that.

03:00:22 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 4:

Crystal. Let me see. Who doesn't want a piece of crystal?

03:00:25 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 1:

So, if a guy was eating that cake, you think that he's eating me? Like, no.

03:00:31 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 4:

Pretty much.

03:00:33 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

I do see where your husband's coming back.

03:00:35 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 4:

Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. Am I the a-hole? Or the throwback throwdown? WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the morning.

03:00:53 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

03:00:54 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 4:

live. Mojo in the morning. Man, Kev has no fun going on right now. We just talked yesterday, I think it was, on the show about how Kev is three weeks celibate. Three weeks in a day. Three weeks in a day without being in the arms of a beautiful woman. Or myself. And then And I just found out, did you know that he quit Instagram?

03:01:29 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, he mentioned something in the studio yesterday. I saw you put your phone down, and you're like, man, I'm addicted to Instagram.

03:01:35 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. The crazy thing is, when you guys were talking about Victor looking at Chelsea's story, I had no idea what you were talking about because I didn't see her story because I don't have Instagram. We talked about Crystal and her birthday pictures. I had no idea what you were talking about because I don't have Instagram.

03:01:49 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 2:

As of yesterday?

03:01:49 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 3:

As of yesterday. Like, probably the moment that I said I'm addicted to Instagram, I deleted the app off my phone.

03:01:56 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Are you addicted to looking at Instagram or are you addicted to the DMs that come through Instagram?

03:02:01 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 3:

It's looking at Instagram. It'll be a point where you'll pull out your phone, you'll go on Instagram, you'll scroll, you'll post, you'll hit the Explore page, you'll look at the DMs, somebody sends you a video. You do all the things you normally do. Yeah. And then you'll leave the app because I guess you're satisfied at that point. Five minutes later, I'm back on the app.

03:02:22 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 4:

Why am I doing that? You know what it is? It's a bag of Doritos. You can't ever put them down or whatever your favorite snack is.

03:02:28 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 3:

I feel like everybody, I do that. It feels so draining to me, though, and I can't, like, I feel like there's moments, and to your point about, like, not having fun right now in this season of my life, I feel like there are certain points where I don't feel in control. Yeah. And it's another thing where I feel like Instagram has me and I don't have it.

03:02:45 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 4:

So when you say you're giving it up, you didn't like delete your account because some people do that and they lose their entire account and I think it's stupid they do that.

03:02:53 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm never doing it. No, Kev knows it's too cold of a name.

03:02:56 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 4:

What'd you do? You just log out?

03:02:57 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 3:

I just deleted the app. Like you hold the app and you remove it off your phone.

03:03:01 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 4:

Do you still remember your password? Because I never remember my password.

03:03:04 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 3:

I think if I re-download it, like if I go to the app store, it'll just, you know, populate as if it was never deleted. Are you sure?

03:03:10 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, you still have to re-log in.

03:03:12 - 03:03:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:03:12 - 03:03:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we'll see.

03:03:13 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 4:

You've got to re-log in. What if you just deleted your entire...

03:03:18 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 2:

You did not delete your account. Correct. You deleted the app from your device. Correct. That's different.

03:03:23 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 3:

Hopefully, the email address for my cell phone number is still the same.

03:03:26 - 03:03:32 | Speaker 2:

So this is not a forever permanent thing. This is just you need a breather. Yeah, Bronnie. Something got to give, man.

03:03:32 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I'm controlled by it. Are there any other listeners that have ever done this before and can give Kevin some advice? Have you guys ever been addicted to something so much that you had to delete it or get rid of it?

03:03:43 - 03:04:16 | Speaker 2:

I did that with Poshmark, which is also an app. It sounds so stupid, but Poshmark is an app where you can buy or sell like clothes and shoes and stuff. And I, it was so weird where I got into this like pattern of, I was on it all the time going down the rabbit hole of finding and buying stuff that I didn't even need. And finally I had, I deleted my, I deleted it for like a year and now I am back on in full force. Cupcake, Shannon, if you want to buy anything. but I am but it it was like bothering me how much I would go and check freaking Poshmark for what

03:04:16 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 4:

reason I see your screen time how are you going to do your daily posts that we always have to do

03:04:23 - 03:04:41 | Speaker 3:

for our show like we had that you know Bianca yeah I guess yeah I didn't even think about that my day was Tuesday so I did my day already you did it already so you got it I didn't even think about that but then I thought about like my morning prayer and a piece of me is like okay maybe you can just delete it every day after you do your requirement yeah but then at that point

03:04:41 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

i don't know that's just doing too much well a pastor friend of mine um shout out to clint dupin he he once told me that if you have an issue with a particular app on your phone that you can you don't even have to delete the app but put something important in its place so for example if i

03:04:59 - 03:05:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

03:05:00 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 4:

having an issue with Instagram or you're having an issue with Instagram, you know exactly where that is on your phone. Like you go right to that spot and hit it on your phone. Put your Bible app, like you said, for example, in that place. So when you're, you think you're going to Instagram, it refocuses your brain. You know what I mean? And you're getting something good instead of getting your daily dose of dopamine from Instagram. You're about to get 20 likes on Insta.

03:05:24 - 03:05:28 | Speaker 5:

Kim, what's up, Kim? It's Mojo in the morning. Did you hear this? I've deleted his Instagram.

03:05:30 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's great. I actually deleted Facebook last September.

03:05:34 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 5:

What was the reason?

03:05:37 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 1:

I was just tired of it. I just kept going to it. I was like, I'd be bored, so I'd click on it, but mindlessly.

03:05:45 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What do you do when you're on the toilet, though, going poop? Like, what are you watching, or what are you looking at?

03:05:52 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 1:

You know, I had played backgammon on my phone. Really?

03:05:57 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 5:

A little game of backgammon while the back of you is, you know, that's, I don't know what I would do in the morning. That's my morning ritual is while I'm doing my thing, I'm looking at Instagram and seeing what, you know, happened the night before and that's how I find out what team won the game that I fell asleep watching, you know?

03:06:20 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 1:

I didn't even think about that. You can read the news.

03:06:23 - 03:06:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I guess you could. You could go to news apps like, you know, Shannon was saying, put something else in its place. But good for you, Kim. Take care of yourself. We appreciate it. Fred, what's up, Fred? How you doing?

03:06:34 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing good. How are everybody doing this morning? Good morning.

03:06:37 - 03:06:38 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

03:06:40 - 03:06:55 | Speaker 3:

So basically, Kim, two years ago, I deleted my whole Facebook and Instagram account. All of it. Yeah. So it was like nothing is left there. I had to redo everything. It was like a bad breakup.

03:06:56 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, see, that's what happens.

03:06:58 - 03:07:03 | Speaker 6:

Did you have a bunch of pictures of your ex on there? Is that why you did it? Or you didn't want to see her stuff?

03:07:03 - 03:07:18 | Speaker 3:

No, it was because I didn't want the world to know what I was going through. Oh, that's a good one. So it's like, basically, I'm like comfortable saying, and I like my ex cheated on me, had a whole baby on me. So it's like.

03:07:19 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 4:

That is so hard.

03:07:21 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I deleted everything. And it's been like two years now since I've even been on social media. Good for you.

03:07:27 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Good for you for having the willpower to do that.

03:07:29 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 5:

Has it helped? Are you doing good right now?

03:07:33 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 3:

I'm getting my life back together. So, I mean, I think I had shared my story, like, through y'all email before with some of my hard times. But now stuff is starting to look back up for me.

03:07:46 - 03:08:06 | Speaker 5:

So bless him. Good, buddy. Listen, we love that you're doing this, but we need you as a follower because we lost followers. So we'd like you to go back and follow us. At least just look at our page, you know, okay? All right, I got you. I'll get back. Thanks, Fred. Your future is bright, Fred. We love you, Fred.

03:08:06 - 03:08:08 | Speaker 6:

That situation doesn't define you, my man.

03:08:08 - 03:08:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm looking to become a Detroit firefighter.

03:08:11 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 5:

Good for you, man. Hey, thank you so much, buddy. Appreciate you. Darren, what's up?

03:08:17 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 6:

yeah so um i don't use social media i have it but i rarely ever even use it and honestly i feel great have it's gonna get such a good feeling out of not using it i swear

03:08:31 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 4:

you know what's so interesting about you is i commend you because i think that that's very hard when everybody is talking about everything that they're seeing or doing on social media and in this in the same breath i say that when somebody tells me they don't have social media i

03:08:45 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 6:

go you're kind of right what's wrong with you you're what are you hiding but i mean it's awesome that you don't i get everything i need i get everything i need out of the dirty on the 30

03:08:56 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 4:

i love you i like the people that say that they're getting off and they're not going to do it and

03:09:03 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 5:

they're doing it and then post more when they said that they were getting off and they weren't going to do it and they're you know and i look at those people and i go why did you just say that you're like just admit that you're whatever you're you know maybe just not uh able to do it maybe you can't stay away from it why do you think they don't admit it i don't know i like the friends that will say i'm not going to be on my social media and then they're either liking all your photos or commenting all your photos or posting more yeah what's up aaron how you doing hey good

03:09:36 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 2:

morning everybody good morning what's going on uh facebook is for me i got rid of it i was getting too sucked into it seeing too many pictures of my ex-wife and her boyfriend so i was like nope

03:09:48 - 03:09:53 | Speaker 5:

can't do this no more all these people with their relationship relationships a lot of guys too

03:09:53 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 4:

can i can i tell you something though if you are if that's the reason and you still want to stay on a platform

03:10:00 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 1:

because you want to connect with your friends and your family and coworkers and you don't want to unfriend, in this case, your ex-wife, for example, you can mute that account. So it doesn't show that you're not following, like you're still following them, but none of their stuff ever comes up.

03:10:16 - 03:10:17 | Unknown:

I did not know you could do that.

03:10:17 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so there you go, Aaron. So we need you as a follower, too. Get back on your Facebook. You're missing out on watching the show live. I'm just kidding, Aaron.

03:10:29 - 03:10:30 | Speaker 1:

He still follows us on Instagram.

03:10:31 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Thank you. But you can listen to the show weekday mornings on Facebook and YouTube. So you can also check out YouTube for Mojo in the Morning and watch it, okay?

03:10:40 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. Thank you.

03:10:41 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself. A lot of guys. Relationship driven, too. Yeah. A lot of them. Oh, speaking of that, are you okay with this? What? Your ex is on the phone. What's up? Well, I haven't picked it up yet. I just want to make sure you're okay with this.

03:11:01 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 2:

He probably talked about Shiret.

03:11:02 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Which one? Come on. There's only one as far as I'm concerned.

03:11:05 - 03:11:08 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Well, we've talked about Josiah's mom before, too.

03:11:08 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 3:

True. Okay. The Mojo in the Morning Show is helping out a great organization called the Pure Heart Foundation, which is a foundation that was started by Kevin's ex, Shirelle. I just call her Shirelle, my new girlfriend. and uh sherelle does a great job helping out kids whose parents have been incarcerated and they're having a big bowling event this weekend it's the one that kevin was going to charge

03:11:38 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 2:

his ex beautiful lady sherelle to host it are you hosting uh i'm not i'm sure she has someone that is qualified and ready to go.

03:11:48 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Who's hosting?

03:11:49 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 2:

Who's hosting the event now, Sherelle?

03:11:52 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 5:

Her name is Randy Rosario. Oh, we love Randy. Oh, Randy Rosario.

03:11:57 - 03:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that's great. So, say hello, Kevin. What's up?

03:12:03 - 03:12:11 | Speaker 2:

What's up? You act like we don't talk. Do you guys talk a lot? She's here to talk about the event. Okay. Let's stay focused. All right. Real me and Sherelle.

03:12:14 - 03:12:25 | Speaker 3:

I love this. By the way, I get text messages from Sherelle about the Pure Heart Foundation and events like this or just asking how Chelsea and I are doing, and I feel like I'm cheating on Kevin.

03:12:26 - 03:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Hey, listen, I told you, I'm not here to block anybody's blessings. Sherelle want to come on, talk about her incredible organization and the incredible event and work that it does. Have the platform. Let's do it.

03:12:37 - 03:12:40 | Speaker 3:

And it's a great organization. And what do you got going on Saturday, Sherelle?

03:12:41 - 03:13:46 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. Thank you for that, Kev. So this Saturday, Pure Heart is hosting our Call of Impact campaign kickoff event, which is our annual Bowl with the Pure Heart event Saturday. So it'll be at Country Lanes from noon to 3, and we would love if all of the community supporters can come out specifically for this reason. All of the proceeds that we raise will be to support scholars communicating with their incarcerated parents. Like if you're not familiar, scholars have to literally pay to connect with their parent, whether it's through visitations, phone calls, they literally have to pay postage to write letters to their parent. And if you are already in a position where you're not all the way financially sound in your household, staying connected to your parent now becomes a burden on the other parent. So we just really want to support them by making sure that their relationship can still be maintained and strengthened through fundraising, through the Call of Impact.

03:13:47 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 3:

That's cool. First off, it's amazing that these kids have to pay to contact their parents. But it's so awesome that Pure Heart Foundation is here to help these kids. And you help out so many kids in the community. So this weekend, and if you want to find out more information, can they go to pureheartfoundation.org?

03:14:05 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 1:

They sure can. And if we can't be there on Saturday, is there a place to donate on the website, too?

03:14:11 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 5:

It absolutely is. Okay. Pureheartfoundation.org and then all of our social media platforms, which is Pure Heart Cares, it's a donation link as well, too.

03:14:21 - 03:14:37 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, I don't know if you know this, but the reigning champion bowling league champs, Zach and those guys won the league. But in honor of them, we made a donation to Pure Heart Foundation to have a lane so that the kids, who's in our lane? Do you know the kids that are going to be in our lane?

03:14:38 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it'll actually be Team Alexia, Alexis, Team Henry, Cameron, and Elnora.

03:14:46 - 03:14:47 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible.

03:14:47 - 03:14:47 | Speaker 5:

That's so fun.

03:14:47 - 03:14:50 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome, Sherelle. You're doing great things, Sherelle. We love you.

03:14:51 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 5:

I love you all, too. Thank you.

03:14:53 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 3:

Talk to you later. We'll see you soon.

03:14:55 - 03:14:56 | Unknown:

Thank you.

03:14:56 - 03:14:57 | Speaker 5:

Okay, bye. Oh, my God. Thank you.

03:14:57 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 4:

What a cute bye.

03:14:59 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

03:15:00 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Oh. Mojo in the Morning's Top Trending Stories. Top trending stories of the day. Here's some good ones that we didn't get a chance to talk about that I just think are very, very interesting. I would like to start with this one. And tell me if you think that this is true, if this is as accurate as can be. Statistics don't lie, but the average duration of phone calls between people, boy to boy, 59 seconds. Boy to mom 50 seconds Boy to dad 30 seconds Boy to girl An hour and 23 minutes Girl to girl 5 hours and 29 minutes Isn't that true? Sounds about right And then I like this one Husband to wife 3 seconds Mom to married daughter 10 hours and 50 minutes Wife to husband 15 missed calls

03:15:55 - 03:15:57 | Speaker 4:

Are those not perfect?

03:15:58 - 03:16:34 | Speaker 1:

I saw that posted on social media I thought that that was actually great. Here's kind of a crazy story. Eight in 10 Americans are changing their spending habits over fears of the recession. 77% of Americans have adjusted their financial spending right now due to the fears of this. And you know who's being affected the most by it? And they're saying it's being affected right now. Entertainment is being affected. They're saying that it was weird how much people were spending at the beginning of this year compared to how much people are now worried about spending at the end of this year. And a lot of it they're seeing in some of the concerts that recently have been coming out.

03:16:34 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but can I tell you something? That's true because it's $800 a ticket to go to a concert. I don't know that it's people saying, oh, I don't want to spend my money on concert tickets. It's I can't even freaking afford it.

03:16:47 - 03:17:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, they're also saying the second biggest one is they're saying that restaurants are starting to feel the pain and that people are eating out less and more people are eating at home and they're finding that a majority of the people that are now deciding to eat at home are deciding that they aren't doing the delivery services anymore either, that they're deciding that they're going to cook at home or find something to eat at home.

03:17:10 - 03:17:20 | Speaker 3:

So DoorDash is also getting very expensive. I mean, the price jackup on the items on the app are getting ridiculous. It was not expensive.

03:17:20 - 03:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, well, it is true.

03:17:23 - 03:17:33 | Speaker 3:

But I know what stuff costs at my favorite restaurants that I go to frequently, and so when I order from DoorDash time to time, I'm doing the comparison in my head going, never mind, I'm just going to go pick it up.

03:17:34 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, the other thing, too, you've got to worry about, and I'm telling you this is the deal, if you order through the DoorDash app and you look at the prices, the prices are different than if you order and some of the restaurants have DoorDash, but they have their own website, you get cheaper prices. One of them is Beyond Juice is one of the ones. Beyond Juice-

03:17:54 - 03:17:55 | Speaker 3:

They have their own app.

03:17:55 - 03:18:13 | Speaker 1:

Is their app or their websites are cheaper, way cheaper than ordering through the delivery services. This was pretty wild. Caught on video a drunk armed DoorDash driver who wrestled the customer because the customer didn't tip.

03:18:14 - 03:18:31 | Speaker 5:

In Vancouver, Washington, a man says he had to fight to protect his family when a now former DoorDash driver showed up at his home with a gun. That driver was apparently upset over how he was tipped. Those tense moments could have escalated into a tragedy. Alma McCarty has a story.

03:18:31 - 03:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Let me hear you, Alma.

03:18:32 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 4:

A quiet morning in Vancouver interrupted.

03:18:35 - 03:18:42 | Speaker 2:

This loud bang on the door, real loud, startled my daughter, and she goes, oh my gosh, you know, who the heck's pounding on the door?

03:18:42 - 03:18:50 | Speaker 4:

Anthony Valino explains it was the DoorDash delivery driver who'd come by the house the night before when his daughter ordered groceries.

03:18:51 - 03:19:03 | Speaker 2:

It was a considerable amount. It was about $100 worth of food. The food was delivered to her. Apparently, she had to give a tip through the online system, which was deducted.

03:19:03 - 03:19:10 | Speaker 4:

But the driver had apparently wanted a cash tip. And for a second, Valino thought about giving him one.

03:19:10 - 03:19:24 | Speaker 2:

When he again said, I want my tip, that's when I said, whoa, whoa, whoa. He leaned in like I didn't hear him, and that's when I put my hand up like a stop sign, and I said, hey, hey, hey, and I said, you need to leave now.

03:19:24 - 03:19:30 | Speaker 4:

A scuffle ensued, and that's when Valino realized the man at their door had a gun in his waistband.

03:19:30 - 03:19:47 | Speaker 2:

When I felt the steel, my heart just sank. My heart just sank. I was like, oh, God, help me now. He tripped right here, and he tripped up against my wife's car. And as he was on the ground, I came about right here and I leaned over and I cleared the handgun.

03:19:48 - 03:19:55 | Speaker 1:

Wow, the guy grabbed the gun right out of the guy's pants and took it from him and then pushed him right out the door.

03:19:55 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 4:

The police arrived soon after, identifying the suspect as Robert Delahant, an arrest.

03:20:00 - 03:20:51 | Speaker 3:

him wow isn't that crazy so the guy wanted the tip to be a cash tip and also was not happy with how much he tipped uh and uh so he ended up going back and asking for more i i've never seen like people so kind of brazen like these uh door dash drivers these days where they'll get really upset and they'll a friend of mine was telling me they gave them the the tip which was the tip that was suggested you know how to give three suggestions yeah and the guy thought that he should have upped his tip on his tip that he had and the person wrote on the bag thanks for being cheap on the bag so he actually contacted doordash i would think that doordash would never use that person as a doordash driver anymore right uh this story is pretty wild it's in detroit there's a couple of uh oh actually hold on i got doordash driver here for a second doordash driver jessica

03:20:51 - 03:21:06 | Speaker 4:

what did you want to say i just wanted to say that it's more expensive on doordash at each restaurant because DoorDash takes 17% of the sales from the restaurant. I owned a small carry-out restaurant. I only had to take them 17% of our sales. Really?

03:21:06 - 03:21:12 | Speaker 3:

I did not know that. Wow. Is it worth it for you to have DoorDash? Or just to not do delivery?

03:21:15 - 03:21:22 | Speaker 4:

I mean, most because we were a carry-out restaurant, most of our sales were through DoorDash and Uber Eats.

03:21:22 - 03:21:25 | Speaker 3:

And people don't want to go and drive to go get food anymore, do they?

03:21:26 - 03:21:27 | Speaker 4:

No.

03:21:27 - 03:21:28 | Speaker 3:

That sucks.

03:21:29 - 03:21:34 | Speaker 4:

I do our dash all the time because it's more convenient for me. I don't feel like leaving the house 90% of the time.

03:21:34 - 03:21:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's wild, 17%. And it's not going to the driver. It's actually just going to the person.

03:21:39 - 03:21:42 | Speaker 4:

83% of something better than nothing.

03:21:43 - 03:21:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's true. I guess you got to pay to play, right?

03:21:46 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 2:

Way, way to odds.

03:21:47 - 03:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Two big local stories that are going on right now. In federal court right now, as we speak, there are two Chinese national students from U of M, one particularly the female of this, that are being brought up on terrorism charges. I don't know if you heard this story, but they brought in what turns out to be a pathogen. I didn't even know what it was, but it was basically they brought in poison to our country through the Detroit airport.

03:22:20 - 03:22:30 | Speaker 2:

The fungus Fusarium graminiarum targets crops such as wheat, barley, maize, and rice, causing billions in damage worldwide each year. I'm glad he pronounced it because I could never pronounce that thing.

03:22:31 - 03:22:41 | Speaker 1:

A fungus such as this could be used to damage our agricultural industry, infect our food supply, impact our economy, and harm large numbers of people.

03:22:41 - 03:23:20 | Speaker 2:

The pathogen can cause vomiting, liver damage and birth defects in humans. Officials say last July, one of the suspects, Zung Young Liu, was caught with the fungus hidden in his luggage at the Detroit airport. Officials say they found this round piece of filter paper with a series of circles drawn on it and four clear plastic baggies with small clumps of a reddish plant material inside. to the Chinese Communist Party who had a Chinese researcher working for her in a U. S university on a pathogen that is known to be deadly to crops into human beings. Why were they doing it? Why did they lie? The Justice Department says

03:23:20 - 03:23:32 | Speaker 6:

young initially lied, but later admitted smuggling the fungus to conduct research on it at the University of Michigan with his girlfriend, young Chin gin young Chin's electronics allegedly had

03:23:32 - 03:23:49 | Speaker 2:

were they doing it? Why did they lie? FBI Director Cash Patel saying this case is a sobering reminder that the Chinese Communist Party continues to deploy operatives and researchers to infiltrate our institutions and target our food supply. Just last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio

03:23:49 - 03:24:06 | Speaker 3:

said the U.S. will be. Yeah, they're they're saying that she was getting paid or and he their boyfriend and girlfriend who are those connections with, you know, students, they say at the University of Michigan, they say they were getting paid by the Chinese government to do this. I mean, just

03:24:06 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 5:

think about how crazy it is that this was discovered. Yeah. Because, like, so many things get through all the time.

03:24:17 - 03:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's unbelievable that, you know, you could be sitting on a plane next to somebody that has a fungus or whatever it is that potentially could kill people. And they worry about my lotion. Right, exactly. Or my bottle of water that says Dasani, which is horrible water in itself. And then another story.

03:24:37 - 03:24:38 | Speaker 4:

You said that's another pathogen.

03:24:38 - 03:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that is a pathogen, by the way. Another big story at the airport, and this is the last one here, local one. Spirit Airlines flight at Detroit Metro Airport evacuated this morning after a reported bomb threat. We are not hearing an update to that story today as to.

03:24:56 - 03:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Happened at 7 a.m. and yeah, still no update.

03:24:59 - 03:25:44 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? on with that, but could you imagine being on a flight and all of a sudden you're getting asked to leave the flight, which looks like it was on the runway. Yeah. That they took the plane all the way to the runway at that time. We will have more tomorrow on our show. Make sure you're listening. If you miss anything, go to our podcast.
