mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

00:02:33 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 8:

it's showtime

00:02:38 - 00:03:08 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:08 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it's good to have you guys here with us today if at any point during the show i say shannon can i take a hit i'm not doing it Off of anything other than her inhaler My goodness

00:03:40 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 2:

I've had two different kinds with me today

00:03:42 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 7:

Oh, two different kinds of inhalers Or two different kinds of other things that we can have

00:03:46 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 8:

Nope, two different kinds of inhalers Okay, that Pineapple Express inhaler Not that one

00:03:52 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 7:

What is the two different kinds? How can you, does one have a flavor to it? Or is one just None of them really have flavors

00:04:03 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 2:

They do kind of have a taste

00:04:04 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

But yeah, I will say this. It's it's really, really, you know, tough to kind of be outside for even just a couple of minutes this morning. It's not like what we saw in New York, but it could get that way. They're saying, I mean, New York yesterday with orange skies, basically from the Canadian wildfires that are going on.

00:04:25 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 2:

How much postage does it take to send a letter to Canada?

00:04:28 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Who's it going to Canada?

00:04:30 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 2:

It says, dear Canada, you.

00:04:34 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 7:

It's like that South Park movie.

00:04:37 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 8:

Blame Canada. Yeah, that's right.

00:04:40 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

So the air quality alert is out there. Yesterday, the city of New York had the worst air quality in the world. It beat, I think it was like someplace in India, right? Wasn't it? That typically every day has like the worst air quality.

00:05:00 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

by, like, triple digits or something like that. It was, like, ridiculous. It looked like the Mets won the World Series. Right. It was, like, all the – it was their team colors, wasn't it, all over the place? They actually canceled a couple of MLB games, including they canceled the game in New York that the Yankees were going to take on the White Sox, but they canceled the Tigers in Philadelphia because Philadelphia is experiencing it, too. And we got it throughout Toledo and then Detroit today, and then I think even Grand Rapids is going to get a little bit, too. Can you smell it? Because Shannon said she can't smell. I can smell.

00:05:32 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 5:

I can smell it. Yeah, my daughter's got asthma too, so it's hard for her to breathe if she's outside too long.

00:05:37 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

It's weird. It's wild because I was just reading something in the Detroit Free Press that said that even just staying indoors and using your air conditioning, that you still can be affected by it. So it's definitely a lot less than just being outside and being outside for long periods of time.

00:05:55 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 2:

I've smelled it in the studio for the past two days. Like, I can tell when our AC kicks on because I can smell smoke in our building.

00:06:03 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's wild. At first, I thought it was, like, chemically smelling. And then I started noticing that, yeah, it was kind of like the afterburn of some smoke.

00:06:11 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

I thought our building was on fire.

00:06:13 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

Really? It was that bad?

00:06:15 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, I just know the smell of smoke. So, for me, I was like, why do I smell this? What's going on? And I looked out the window, and it was really bad here in Toledo for the past couple of days. and I googled it and it popped up like I didn't even know about the wildfires I hadn't even heard about them

00:06:30 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

It's one of those things for me where it's like you never think it'll happen to you because every time we hear about wildfires it's usually California, it's on the other side Yeah

00:06:39 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

And these fires we're getting the smoke from right now Mike I think is getting affected more by some of the grayling fires that took place We're getting now affected, they're saying, by the ones that are fully in Canada that that's where the smoke is from And I don't know how they differentiate the two of that, but I don't know. All right, so be on alert for that today. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Kev, you said that you wanted to do one of our features but do it at a different time. What was the feature that you wanted to do right now? Am I the a-hole?

00:07:11 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

I need to clear my conscience for the rest of the day, so I need to get this started early. So it's something that you did? Yeah. So Sherelle's pregnant, obviously. She loves to eat, and I'm not shaming that. I can just hear Megan in my ear right now. Let her eat. She's okay. She can eat whatever she wants. She's giving birth. Oh, my God.

00:07:29 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

You know me so well already.

00:07:32 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

So I'm like, I'm not shaming her for eating. All I do is she has some healthier options, but that's a whole other story. Ooh. Yes, you are the A-Hole.

00:07:41 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 5:

Like you would say the mojo.

00:07:44 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Remix.

00:07:45 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 5:

Remix.

00:07:46 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 4:

Look, the crazy thing is that's not even the story. So I just threw that one out. That's a freebie. But the real story is I guess like I said So we were at Domino's She's been craving pizza lately

00:07:56 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

00:07:56 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 4:

And she's pregnant I didn't want to have her Go into Domino's To pick up the order So I'm like babe It's okay I got it I'm thinking she's already ordered I'm gonna walk in It's gonna be quick It isn't It takes me 20-25 minutes People are coming in Getting orders Walking out So I'm already frustrated So I sit down And I feel like God told me At the perfect moment Look to your right As soon as I look to the right I see the lady behind the counter Taking the wings out of the oven With her bare hand Her index finger and her thumb She takes the chicken wing and puts it in the box And I'm like oh my god She's using her hands I was pissed so I didn't say anything So I got in the car But I could just feel like Wait you didn't say anything

00:08:39 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 3:

Why?

00:08:40 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

I didn't feel like it I was frustrated I wanted to go I didn't care

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh because you didn't want to have to remake something

00:08:46 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to have you to take an extra 20 minutes To put the wings back through

00:08:50 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm ready to go. I thought you were just non-confrontational, but it sounds to me like you normally would have said something.

00:08:55 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm ready to go. I've already been here for far too long. But when I get in the car and I'm looking at Sherelle, then I melt and I'm just like, oh, yeah. I'm like, but I'm still driving. Like, I'm backing out of the parking lot. I'm making my right. I'm like, the girl touched her wings. She's like, what? I'm like, yeah, I wasn't going to tell you, but I just got to shoot her. And you let her? You let her touch my wings? Pull over. So I had to pull over. She took the wings, went in there. I still had to wait the extra 20, 25 minutes.

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

And then she went back in.

00:09:24 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

She went back in and got in.

00:09:26 - 00:09:26 | Unknown:

Man.

00:09:27 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 4:

Killing it. It might be a-hole because- Yes.

00:09:31 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

You know what's so funny is you were trying to be so sweet by going in and doing the waiting for her and being in there so she could just be comfy in the car, like put it back in there

00:09:42 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

so bad. What's the problem with hutching food with your- if you do food safety, if you're washing your hands, it's fine.

00:09:48 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

that was that was my i said it's not like she grabbed it right she used her little and it was like a second because when things are hot you don't hold them in your hand for a while you just pick it up really it was like without it was like yeah exactly

00:10:00 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 1:

Well, a lot of times people who rely on gloves are actually more dangerous with your food because they don't pay attention to food safety. Like, they'll do dirtier things and be like, oh, I've got gloves on. Yeah. It's like I still want to see you pick it up with, like, tongs or something, though. Yeah. Okay, so. You're totally right, Megan, by the way. It's just, like, a mental thing. I don't know. Yeah.

00:10:18 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Here's the dilemma that we have here right now. Take out the fact that he said that he doesn't like some of the choices she's making pregnant eating. That's a whole other topic. Which, by the way, I've seen you eat, my friend, and I have not seen your – other than the fact that you don't eat meat and you're a pescatarian Presbyterian. Other than that, you actually may not be the healthiest man in this room. I want you to know that, okay? Very true. Very true. But I will say this. Am I the a-hole? I get it. You're in there. You want to go home. All you want to do is go home. Is this woman Gonna really like You know Hurt my girl And my future baby With her little fingers Touching my Girl's wings Yeah Yes You're an a-hole I don't know It's that simple Would you be upset Shannon If your fiance Was in there Watching somebody Touch things Food with their hands And didn't come into the car Right away and tell you But told you How much further Down the road

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 2:

We were

00:11:17 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Near the parking lot You were an a- Okay alright I know Wes, though, and he would have said something right then and there. In the restaurant? In the restaurant, yeah.

00:11:25 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

He wouldn't have even waited until out of the restaurant. Mike, what would Allie have done? Here you are. You just went through the pregnancy and the birth. What would Allie have done if you got in the car and then driving and said, oh, by the way, she touched them with her fingers? Why am I telling her?

00:11:39 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 4:

Why do I need to be honest and tell her that somebody touched her wings? Just eat the wings. He ended up in the microwave. He ended up in the microwave.

00:11:44 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 2:

Mike, I thought about that. I was like, but that was while walking to the car, I was like, shit, I'll tell you, shit, I'll not tell you.

00:11:49 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so Mike's saying heating it in the microwave gets rid of any kind of fungi on the hands?

00:11:57 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 4:

I feel like it does. I mean, it can't be that. It's wings. It's not like it's necessarily the cleanest of clean food anyways. Who cares? Like, what's it really going to do?

00:12:05 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. By the way, let's put it this way. There's probably worse things on the wings, like you said, than there are on this person's fingers touching the wings. But I agree with the whole gloves thing. I see people that will wear gloves and they'll touch the raw food and then not change their gloves to then touch the cooked food. And I'm like, well, then what are you doing? Like, why are you wearing it? That was like when COVID was at its height and everybody was being an idiot wearing gloves and touching things and then touching their nose.

00:12:33 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it didn't even matter.

00:12:34 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 3:

It was like, OK, I think that we're not making any sense here right now. Kev, I know how Sherelle is just from even just going out to eat with her once. And I know that you next time let her just go into that.

00:12:51 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 2:

You make the decision.

00:12:52 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

Just let her go in. Sherelle would have definitely, like, she would have said something right away, right?

00:12:57 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 2:

I mean, she went in there, and I don't know what she said, but she came out with fresh wings.

00:13:01 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

But also, could this be, because he just slipped earlier and was like, I don't want her eating certain things. Could this just be maybe nobody really touched the food, and you just don't want her to eat the wings, so you're like, oh, somebody touched your food, so she won't eat the wings.

00:13:15 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, psychologically, you didn't want her to eat the wings at all. You were hoping that you could drive all the way home and not have her eat those wings.

00:13:21 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

I just want to know if I'm an a-hole.

00:13:26 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Texters right now, by the way, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Let me go through some of these text messages because a ton of them have come in here right now. I've witnessed people touch my food After licking their fingers And still ate the food That is from 734 Another person here This is 810 says Kev gross How could you do that to your girl You should have spoke up It's protecting your child remember Another one here By the way that's true by the way I am definitely more protective of Chelsea Or have been when she was pregnant with the kids I mean literally I was like the secret service around her And she was the president Another one here 231 says Oh my gosh this happens all the time I witness it whenever I'm in a restaurant A fast food restaurant waiting for my food I see the grossest things Thank God they're not touching my food But then I realize they already have touched my food That's the thing When you witness somebody doing something gross to another person's food Like if you're in a restaurant or a fast food place You have to understand, they're doing it to you, too. Everybody's free.

00:14:33 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever had somebody deliver, like, soup or a salad, and when they give it to you, their thumb is in it? Yeah.

00:14:39 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 3:

That always really is. Or your coffee. Here's your coffee cup. What's up, Sarah? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

00:14:48 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I work for a public school and food service. Can't say which one. But you cannot touch cooked food with bare hands. We just had our spring inspection by the health department.

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so.

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that's different for schools, though? Because when you go to fancy restaurants, chefs back there, they ain't wearing gloves.

00:15:08 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, but you're not supposed to because whatever you could have touched beforehand could be on your hands.

00:15:15 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 6:

Listen, I just assumed in the lunchrooms at schools, the lunch ladies' wart touched my food. By the way, lunch ladies don't look like they did when I was a kid. I witnessed some of the lunch ladies at Luke's school, my son's school. And they're all pretty. What happened to the older, ugly lunch ladies that used to work back in the day?

00:15:37 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 9:

Well, I'm almost 30 myself, so I don't know what to tell you about.

00:15:40 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 6:

We never had 30-year-old lunch ladies in our cafeteria as a kid.

00:15:44 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 7:

No, 35 minimum.

00:15:45 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it was always the lady, and she would slop that piece of pizza or the Bosco stick right there on your plate, and she'd do it in her bare hands. Yeah. Yeah.

00:15:55 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 9:

But no, you can't do that unless it's frozen, but we don't even like to do that at our school.

00:16:00 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 6:

Thanks. Are you excited, by the way, school's over with her?

00:16:03 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 9:

No, because I'm working summer school as well, but that's okay.

00:16:06 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Well, I hope you have a good summer.

00:16:09 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 9:

All right.

00:16:09 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:16:10 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 6:

Take care. How smart are you?

00:16:13 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:19 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 6:

This was the year that Kim Kardashian infamously cried over losing her diamond airing on a trip to Bora Bora. This was after Chris Humphreys threw her in the ocean. Steve Carell left his role as Michael Scott on The Office in this year.

00:16:49 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'll leave tomorrow. You're leaving today, right?

00:16:55 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 7:

Maybe. And Drake had the big song. What year was it?

00:17:05 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 6:

For pink tickets, good luck.

00:17:08 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 5:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened.

00:17:11 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:23 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 6:

All right, all happened in the same year. This was when she was still married to Chris Humphreys. Remember when Kim Kardashian got thrown into the ocean in Bora Bora and she lost her earrings and was like crying about it?

00:17:38 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 8:

My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it's gone. And there's people that are dying. I just told you that. Anyone would be annoyed.

00:17:47 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 6:

I work really hard. There's people that are dying. I love that as the defense. There are people that are dying, but my diamond earrings are at the bottom. Steve Carell left his role as Michael Scott on The Office.

00:17:58 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow? Lunch? You and me? Okay.

00:18:03 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'll leave tomorrow. You're leaving today, right?

00:18:09 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 6:

Maybe. I cried. Did you guys cry on that one?

00:18:12 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 7:

And the big song, Drake, Headlines.

00:18:18 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 6:

Mia! Hi. Hey, what's happening? Yes, it was. Yeah, congratulations. Yay. Thank you. Congratulations to you. We're setting you up with tickets. Do you know what you won? Pink tickets, please. You did. You won pink tickets. Congratulations to you. We're setting you up with a pair of tickets to go see Pink in concert at Comerica Park. We will give you a pair for that. Tickets are still on sale. They want me to let you know that there are some tickets available, even though some people thought that the show was completely sold out. You can get them at Ticketmaster. There are some good seats that are still available for that, and it's August. So it actually works out perfectly if you're somebody that is trying to do the whole Taylor, Drake, or Ed Sheeran thing. You got a little bit of time beforehand. Hold on to the line, and we'll get you set up.

00:19:08 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 9:

Thank you.

00:19:09 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 6:

We have those Taylor Swift tickets coming up. And as promised, two pair this morning here on the show. We will do a two for Taylor Plus we will be out on the streets In Taylor, in Taylor, Michigan Giving away a pair of tickets So find out where in Taylor We will be in about an hour from now But win two for Taylor By listening to Channel 955, 104.5 SNX And 92.5 KISS FM Because it will happen this morning Before 9.30

00:19:39 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

00:19:42 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 6:

Shannon with what's trending In the Dirty on the 30 this morning

00:19:45 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, Spider-Man No Way Home star Tom Holland has decided to take a little hiatus from acting after producing and starring in that Apple TV Plus limited series, The Crowded Room. I'm no stranger.

00:20:00 - 00:20:04 | Speaker 5:

to hard work i've always sort of lived by this idea that hard work is good work and i really

00:20:04 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 3:

enjoyed it but then again the show did break me and i'm now taking a year off and you know that is a result of how difficult this show was a little time with zendaya have you watched that so by the way or heard about it that's about it's about a guy who's arrested for a shooting at rockefeller center in like the 70s or something i heard it's really good uh britney spears casually announced that she quit the business as she reflected on her 13-year conservatorship in a new Instagram post yesterday. She shared a throwback video of herself dancing in a little crop top and shorts to Get Naked, I Got a Plan from way back in 2007. And she wrote in the caption that it is her favorite song from her two-decade career. I don't even remember that

00:20:46 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 1:

song. What was it called again? Do you guys remember Get Naked? Hold on, I'm finding it in here. Get naked I got a plan no I don't think it was a hit I don't think so either but she then looked back

00:20:56 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 3:

on her performance days and reflected on how she had to share the spotlight with her backup dancers all of the time and noted that they were usually on stage more than her especially for that song when she performed it live and she said she just now realized that for the first time ever she writes guess all those rules and not having a voice for 13 years and what I wanted gave a lot of people a thrill ride. No wonder I quit the business.

00:21:23 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Just saying. The thing, for Brittany to say that and make it seem like she was forced to do that, that was what made her innovative was the fact that she did the crazy dances and all that stuff that were really hard for artists to do and be able to perform at the same time.

00:21:38 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 3:

And she was able to do both.

00:21:40 - 00:21:45 | Speaker 2:

And she had to almost have those backup dancers there and be able to sing live.

00:21:45 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're right.

00:21:46 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It's wild that now she's, maybe she wished that she could have gone away from all that and just done more acoustic type singing.

00:21:54 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever hear her when she didn't sing in her high-pitched voice and she sang in her natural lower register, though?

00:21:59 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 2:

No. Was it good?

00:22:00 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 4:

It was so freaking good. Really? And I feel like she was forced to be a character for so long that she probably, I'm sure she hated many aspects of her life.

00:22:12 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 2:

Wow. No, I never got a chance to hear that.

00:22:14 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 4:

You need to listen to her sing Lower because it's genuinely impressive.

00:22:19 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Rumors are flying on social media that Mel Gibson is currently working on a four-part documentary that will cover the $34 billion child trafficking market. Jeffrey Epstein and the crisis in Ukraine. Nobody seems to be able to confirm this to me, especially the Epstein tie-in, which is kind of interesting to me. So he's tying in Jeffrey Epstein to? To the child trafficking market piece of this. $34 billion. Wow. And many seem to be under the impression that this documentary is absolutely happening. Others are believing that Mel Gibson might be silenced by the many, many elites who are affiliated with Jeffrey Epstein before this project can even be finished. Hence the reason everybody's being so hush-hush about it. And lastly, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will be on the cover of Madden NFL 24, the game available for pre-order with official release being August 18th. Madden NFL 24 going to be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, and PC. The legendary coach and announcer John Madden, who passed away a couple of years ago, was on the cover of Madden NFL 23.

00:23:37 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it a curse, by the way, that you're on there as a player? There's some story there, right?

00:23:59 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses, is coming up in, like, a little bit. more than 10 minutes okay so just like 11 or so minutes from now uh we also have the 5s 655 and carrie's going for her 14th win in a row she's only got a couple more left until she becomes one of our tournament of champions and then she'll take on shannon it's mojo in the morning so you can tell that megan's got a lot on her plate and she's a very busy woman i mean just call and ask her when you're when you do get her on the phone say hey what are you doing right now she's either doing one of two things she's sitting in a parking lot of a store she's about to go shop at or what

00:24:41 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

did you do yesterday i drove around for over 20 minutes following around the apple maps car i hate that you brought that up i wasn't going shopping by the way i was picking up drugs It's the legal kind from the pharmacy. But.

00:25:00 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 6:

As I was leaving that pharmacy yesterday, it was on Reynolds. And as I was pulling out, heading towards Maumini was an Apple Maps car with one of those giant cameras on top. Now, I've seen the Google Maps car. I've seen other vehicles that were going around. I have never seen an Apple Maps car with cameras on it. And I said, well, we both know what's about to happen. I ran my errands. I was just about to head home. Let's see how long we can file this car for. I was so creepy, and I followed this car around for over 20 minutes just trying to get in as much of the map as physically possible. I love you.

00:25:41 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 4:

This is so you. What does the Apple Maps car look like? Is it like a Tesla? What kind of car is it?

00:25:45 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I don't know.

00:25:48 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 4:

Was it a nice car? Was it a big car?

00:25:50 - 00:25:54 | Speaker 6:

No, it was like a little sedan. It looked like a Toyota Camry.

00:25:54 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 2:

It looks like a submarine because it's got on the roof the camera stuff. So it looks like, you ever see like a submarine where the submarine has the periscope thing that comes up? That's what it kind of looks like. Or a TV station, you know, one of the TV stations in the area.

00:26:07 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 6:

We just threw in the word periscope and we all just let that go. I know. Should we?

00:26:11 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 2:

Come on, that was very good.

00:26:13 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 3:

I want to know what you were doing, Megan. Like, what were you doing to make it stand out? So, you know, three years from now when I'm looking up Apple Maps and I see you, I'm like, that girl. Are you doing anything wild?

00:26:23 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so every red light I would start dabbing behind it. You can just see me in the driver's seat like, I didn't know what else to do. So I was just like trying to grab hats and stuff. I had to pick you know my car is dirty. Hats out of the back. And I was trying to change my outfit as much as possible. But yeah, I spent so much of my free time following this stupid car around.

00:26:49 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I can't wait for the data entry guy who has to go through all of that stuff to see every single picture.

00:26:55 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 6:

Well, I think they have to blur your face, don't they?

00:26:57 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. I don't think so.

00:27:00 - 00:27:00 | Speaker 6:

I thought they did.

00:27:01 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so. Hold on one second. I want to call Chelsea real quick because I want to tell the story about her grandfather. This is my wife, Chelsea. Hi, Chels.

00:27:11 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

00:27:11 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 2:

So Megan yesterday was following the Apple Maps car. Will you tell the story about how your grandfather was on Google Maps?

00:27:21 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he would jog every day Or walk towards the end of his life But jog every day And so they just happened to catch him on One of the little

00:27:35 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

00:27:36 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Shirtless With a beanie on With his big goggles

00:27:42 - 00:27:51 | Speaker 2:

Big blue blockers He had the blue blockers, sunglasses And the greatest was It was one of your friends Who was it, Xenia or something like that? She was looking for something on

00:27:51 - 00:27:59 | Speaker 1:

No, my dad's friend Was looking for something And then I've had other friends Who thought have sent it to me

00:27:59 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 2:

So Megan might be one of those people What was the outfit that you were wearing Megan, just to make sure

00:28:05 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 6:

What was I wearing yesterday? Oh, I had a Toledo Mudhens sweatshirt on

00:28:12 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Go Mudhens

00:28:14 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 6:

By the way, Chelsea

00:28:16 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 2:

I'll let you go, I'm going to grab some calls Love you Bye Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye, Chelsea. Oh, bye. Bye-bye. Oh, bye-bye. So the funniest is when we take pictures in the studio of Megan, she has to look at them 12 times before we can post them. Do you think that she'll do that? Oh, my God.

00:28:34 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 6:

That is so not true. Don't you paint me like that. Did you apply lip gloss as you were behind the car? No, and I had the makeup on from the day before. That's how much I don't care, okay?

00:28:44 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Jamie, what's going on, Jamie?

00:28:47 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:28:47 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up?

00:28:48 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 5:

um i'm good i'm on my way to work yeah i was listening and heard megan that she followed the apple maps car and what's funny when i went home from work yesterday i was behind it so i also decided to follow where were you because i was in the mommy area i was on reynolds and

00:29:08 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 7:

central actually so girl we were right by each other yeah i was like the whole thing of reynolds Still, were the two of us just, like, cruising around?

00:29:16 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I was, like, on my way home from work. So I'm like, well, why not? I don't have anything to do.

00:29:22 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 4:

How fun would that job be, too, to be the Apple Maps guy driving around and all these cars are following you all close?

00:29:28 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 6:

In my head, I was like, the cars go marching too.

00:29:33 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 7:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

Bye.

00:35:27 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. Five, five, five, five, five. Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:35:37 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 1:

Carissa, why do you think that your husband's cheating?

00:35:40 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 3:

Because he works from home and he has his coworkers come to the house. And I just think that it's inappropriate for female coworkers of his to be invited into our house.

00:35:57 - 00:35:59 | Speaker 1:

So are they just female coworkers?

00:35:59 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 3:

no he also does sometimes have male co-workers there but i don't know i i have really bad anxiety and i am going to nursing school and i've just been studying a ton lately so you're not

00:36:17 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 1:

you're not around much at the house because of school yeah and i've just been way more stressed

00:36:25 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 3:

out than i normally am and i just feel like having women at our house when i'm not there is making me feel a lot more anxious and stressed out yeah yeah are the women there at the house

00:36:38 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 1:

with just him sometimes though because if there's another person there another guy that's there or

00:36:44 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 2:

another you know and even if there's a big group of women like i don't know how many women you're talking about but like yeah i don't know are you thinking that something's happening even if there's

00:36:54 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 3:

a lot of people there well there is this one co-worker of his this woman that he is really close with okay and so that's what's making me nervous okay so now this makes a little bit more

00:37:09 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 1:

sense so your fear is because you're not around a lot he's been spending a lot more time with her too yeah exactly all right so you want us to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Yeah, please. Okay. Hold on one second. Mute your phone. We're hoping that the flowers go to Carissa. Hello. Hi, I'm looking for Mark, please. Yeah, this is he.

00:37:48 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mark. My name is Nicole. I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. And before you hang up on me, I want to let you know this isn't going to cost you anything. I'm not going to ask you for your credit card information or anything like that. 00:38:51 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:38:54 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Let's send them to Heather.

00:39:01 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And do you happen to have Heather's phone number on you?

00:39:07 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:39:14 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

okay I'm actually gonna create an account for you so hopefully you'll order flowers from us in the future when you do order flowers and so Heather will be on the account just to make it easier for you and what is her relationship to you?

00:39:40 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 3:

She's my girlfriend.

00:39:43 - 00:39:43 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:39:46 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Mark, we also offer something unique that we feel sets us apart from other floral companies, and it's called a digital voice card. So you can leave your own message that's going to get texted to the recipient when the flowers get delivered. Did you want to do something like that? uh yeah sure okay i'm gonna count you down and then just leave something short and sweet here we go three two one

00:40:09 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 4:

looking forward to seeing you tonight

00:40:14 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 2:

awesome and mark i also have to let you know real quick this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that yeah great mark i'm gonna jump on

00:40:28 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 1:

and get some more information from you, and then we'll let you go. Okay.

00:40:34 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't have a lot of time, so are you going to need too much more?

00:40:38 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 1:

No, just a couple more minutes, and that's just to inform you that while we've been making this call to you and you've been sending the flowers, your wife, Carissa, just heard you send them to another woman. Mark, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And your wife, Carissa, called us up because she was worried that you were possibly cheating on her.

00:41:10 - 00:41:11 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:41:13 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 1:

And she's listening in to this call and can actually hear you right now. Carissa?

00:41:23 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:41:24 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Mark, Carissa was worried that something was going on, and her worries came true.

00:41:43 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 4:

Why, why would you call, why would you not just call me and ask me?

00:41:51 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 5:

You would have told me the truth.

00:41:54 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 1:

Mark, Carissa brings up an interesting point If she would have called you You weren't going to tell her what was going on

00:42:07 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 5:

This is just something This is a private thing I don't, now it's just out there for everybody

00:42:17 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 2:

And this is obviously somebody that you work with?

00:42:20 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 4:

Can I talk to my wife

00:42:26 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 1:

You okay with that Carissa

00:42:29 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

00:42:31 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one second And we will let you guys do that Don't miss this

00:42:40 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 5:

We come back here next

00:42:44 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 1:

We got a lot of people that listen That work from home Is it appropriate for you to have a co-worker come over to your house when you are working from home? He was doing it and obviously he was doing something else too. We'll be right back.

00:43:03 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo, he's charming and sweet unless you're a cheater. Then he'll embarrass you live on the air.

00:43:18 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, War of the Roses.

00:43:24 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

So Chris has suspected that her husband was cheating, did War of the Roses. He sent the flowers to what he called his girlfriend.

00:43:34 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 2:

Without skipping a beat, she's my girlfriend.

00:43:37 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 1:

And it is his coworker, and she was feeling a little suspicious about this because he works from home and he's had her over to the house, which I want to get into this. I want to know, any at-home workers, any people that work from home, is it appropriate to have somebody at your house like that? Like, is it appropriate, in this case here, Carissa, she says that she works nursing and she goes to nursing school, so she's not home a lot. Like, would it be appropriate? Because I know that your fiance, Wes, doesn't he do some work from home?

00:44:10 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 2:

He works from home, yep.

00:44:11 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 1:

Would you be okay with, If he had, like, female colleagues in the house?

00:44:17 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

I mean, honestly, if it wasn't just one-on-one, if it was a big group, I would be fine with it. But this seems to be a little bit of a situation.

00:44:27 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 1:

What if they were into kinky stuff and liked a lot of people? How would I know that? I don't know. By the way, just to tell you guys, in order to be able to have this War of the Roses on the air, There was one stipulation, and that was that Mark asked us if he could have some time to do a comment apology on the radio. So after we got done with the War of the Roses and the aftermath got crazy, we talked to him, and here you go. I'll give you a chance to listen to it. Mark?

00:45:03 - 00:45:03 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:45:05 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 1:

You got a chance to talk to your wife. Anything that you want to say right now? I know you said that you wanted to come back on with us and say something.

00:45:21 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 3:

This is not, I was not expecting any of this. I mean, it was just, it was just a sling, it happened twice, and I regret it, but I'm really sorry that I've gotten mixed up in this, and I've embarrassed her, embarrassed My family I'm just I'm just I'm really sorry

00:45:58 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 1:

Alright Um Mojo in the morning War of the Roses What's up Chris?

00:46:09 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi Uh This is my fella He's a bag of dicks man Well

00:46:15 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

00:46:15 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Sorry about nothing

00:46:16 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Come right out and say how you feel Yeah

00:46:18 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 4:

Listen to him He knew he was wrong As soon as He was pointed out

00:46:23 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's not sorry. He's sorry he got caught. Exactly. The other thing, too, is do you tell somebody that you love them in a card when you say you've only had two encounters or whatever? What is his apology?

00:46:37 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 4:

It was, and we caught it right after he said that. My interpretation of a fling is a one-night stand, not a two-night stand.

00:46:47 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It seemed more ongoing. What do you think about people working from home having people over at their house

00:46:52 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 4:

that they work with well my ex-wife used to uh work from home and uh you know she did uh like home health care sales and uh she had over all the time but i was a mechanic and so i was i was able to come home quite often and nothing ever really came of that we got divorced just It's some mutual stuff, but I don't know. It's kind of got to walk an iffy line.

00:47:27 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that because your schedule is so erratic, it made you feel more comfortable that you could come home at any time?

00:47:36 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think that had a lot to do with it, yeah.

00:47:39 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call. Kelsey, what's happening?

00:47:42 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, guys. Long-time listener, first-time caller. Oh, we love that. Hey, listen, my husband's been working for home for three years. I'm a statewide security team leader. I travel all the way from Detroit to Marquette, Michigan. I'm going to tell you right now, any woman was in my house and I'm not there, there would be no husband. I'm going to tell you right now.

00:48:03 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 2:

The thing is, in my head, I'm thinking there's a big group of, there's several people, right, who are with him at the house. And so that's where I'm wondering, how did they break away?

00:48:15 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, there weren't several people. That's the thing. I guarantee you that they weren't. So I think that's what he tells her.

00:48:20 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 2:

What do they do, say, oh, we're going to go look at something in my bedroom?

00:48:23 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 1:

Like, come on.

00:48:24 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 2:

How does that work?

00:48:25 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 1:

And in your case, Kelsey, you are just flat out, no, that's not happening. They're not. No.

00:48:31 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 6:

And it's a respecting, right? Like, it would be no different, you guys. If I was home alone, I wouldn't have a man in my house without my husband. It's a respecting at that point.

00:48:40 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You do that at the office. You bring them to the office or find some place to meet. What are those businesses called? where you can, like, rent an office for a day or something like that? Like a we work or a we work? Yeah, no, not the roadside motels for the other stuff.

00:49:00 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 2:

I thought you meant rent a person.

00:49:01 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 1:

No, well, that happens outside of those hotels, too. What's up, Wendy? How you doing?

00:49:07 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. I'm good. So what stuck out to me is when he said, without even hesitation, that's my girlfriend. And I mean, that's not a that's not a fling. That's a relationship. And then when he got caught and wanted to apologize, he said it's a fling. But in his card, he said, I can't wait to see you tonight. Right. So it might have only happened twice, but he's making plans to see that woman again. The other thing I want to say is, like, I'm a nurse and nursing school is tough and it takes a lot of time. And she's busting her ass trying to do better for him and for their family. and he's out having a relationship with some other woman i was really hopeful that he would send flowers to her to try to boost her up while she's going through nursing school but i agree with you mojo he's not sad he did it he said he got caught yeah mike said that actually

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

i'll give him credit for that but yeah absolutely

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 6:

Wendy, thank you. Jill, where are the roses?

00:50:04 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 2:

I was just going to say the same thing. Is he sorry or is he sorry he got caught? Because he literally said, I can't wait to see you tonight.

00:50:12 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the fling thing.

00:50:13 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

He wasn't sorry. He was making plans. He's still going.

00:50:16 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 6:

What do you think about him bringing people into the house? That's another debate that we're waging right now.

00:50:22 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 2:

I mean, if it's a group and you can prove that it's a group, that's one thing. But if it's just one person of the opposite sex, I feel like that, yeah, that's definitely disrespectful especially if she doesn't know that that's the case yep yeah thank you for the call

00:50:34 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 6:

war of the roses if you missed it podcast available go to our mojo on the morning podcast

00:50:39 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 3:

uh what's up flip hey uh this is flip from finley uh i don't know if anybody noticed this but um he called her his girlfriend so he said it was a fling right and it's a two-time thing apparently but I don't know if I'd call her or my girlfriend after two times.

00:50:59 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Flinging girlfriend don't usually, you know, mesh into each other, you know? Yeah. I like this, by the way, flip from Finley. That could be something good if you call us more often. We get to hear from you, okay?

00:51:13 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I would definitely do that.

00:51:14 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 6:

Thanks for the call. All right, Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. If you think that you're being cheated on, you know, do exactly what Carissa did. She heard me say, hey, text Cheater to 95500, and we will talk to you, and we'll try to do a War of the Roses. And she did that some time ago, and we ended up getting her on. And unfortunately, we got bad news for her, but at least she knows.

00:51:37 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 5:

This is the home of War of the Roses. I absolutely love it. Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:43 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, so in moments, we will check in with Taylor in Taylor Tickets. And Kev is out. The new guy, Kev, is out with a very special guest. So get ready for that. So out on the streets in Taylor, Michigan, if you're anywhere in or around, we will tell you the exact location. And we'll give you like 30 minutes or so to get there. So make sure that you keep on listening. Shannon with an update on the dirty. And remember, two for Taylor, we did play one song already. We have not played a second song that was not a Taylor Swift song. So if the next song is Taylor, you're going.

00:52:23 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Kim Kardashian is all about her new romance with this mystery man she's been dating during the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, which I think airs tonight. She's gushing about him, but also talking about the difficulty of dating in the public eye. And she explained that throughout her little fling or whatever it was, relationship with pete davidson people made it seem like this very very serious relationship when in reality she says she was just trying to have a good time and it turns out she's been sneaking around with this new man who scott disick nicknamed fred for whatever reason kim says her friends set her up with fred and the two went out on a date at a club in new york city where they have a private room in the basement actually a club where she frequented with pete davidson but Scott asked her, does he meet the standards, to which Kim replied, oh, he so meets the standards. I don't know why I care so much, but I want to know who it is really badly. Vanderpump Rules star Raquel Levis says she is absolutely in love with Tom Sandoval on the VPR reunion last night.

00:53:31 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 6:

Why couldn't you stop? Why did you have to keep going?

00:53:35 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 4:

It was almost impossible to turn away from.

00:53:39 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 6:

You were in love.

00:53:41 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:53:42 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 5:

You're ugly.

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 4:

You're hideous.

00:53:44 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 5:

I know. You're rotten on the inside. Rotten.

00:53:47 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 6:

Who is that, by the way? That's... Ariana. Ariana.

00:53:50 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 5:

Like a moldy piece of fruit.

00:53:52 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

00:53:52 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 5:

Rotten.

00:53:54 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 6:

You are still in love. Tom, you are in love.

00:54:01 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, I'm going to laugh. This is delusional. This is hilarious and delusional. It's a very simple question. Are you in love or are you not? I'm sorry. Yes. Yes. Grody! Grody!

00:54:17 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, that's got to be a drop. He is Grody. He is Grody. That is so good.

00:54:21 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 1:

Raquel admitted during the reunion that she slept with Tom for the second time while they were in Mexico and that she had baked cookies with him several times on that vacation, also confessing the affair definitely picked up speed after filming was over. Raquel claiming it ate her alive not to tell Ariana the truth.

00:54:38 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 4:

I genuinely was coming from a place of, do you want to be in this relationship?

00:54:43 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 5:

The answer was yes, and you had already f***ed him at that point, so shut the f*** up.

00:54:47 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 6:

Who?

00:54:48 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 5:

F*** yourself with a f***ing cheese grater. F*** you. What? You f***ing suck. You're disgusting. And I wish nothing but the worst f***ing s*** that could ever happen to a person on you.

00:54:57 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 6:

By the way, she does give good analysis.

00:55:00 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 2:

doesn't I mean yeah we don't live our lives by logic exactly that's what I'm saying feelings took over I mean she tried to apologize but obviously it

00:55:21 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 3:

didn't can I tell you something I was listening to that clip that you just played just a moment ago and the only thing that that clip missed was why Why couldn't you stop? Why did you have to keep going?

00:55:32 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 1:

It was almost impossible to turn away from.

00:55:36 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 3:

You were in love.

00:55:38 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You're ugly. You're hideous. I know. You're rotten on the inside.

00:55:43 - 00:55:49 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't that be a great, all of a sudden they break into the War of the Roses music? Every time you bust a Tito 2, play Grody!

00:55:49 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes, we have to. At one point during the affair, apparently Raquel suggested that she and Ariana and Tom become a throuple. But Tom shut it down. She said she was in love with Tom, she loved Ariana as a person, so it didn't seem like that far-fetched of an idea to her.

00:56:04 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 3:

I've seen him, and, you know, he's not a bad-looking guy, but is he worthy of this? No. No? No.

00:56:09 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 1:

Justin Bieber's dad, Jeremy Bieber, taking to Twitter to post a pride flag yesterday with this message. Don't forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence. He posted, we need to celebrate families. You know the reason we're all here. the things this generation glorifies is unbelievable. As you can imagine, believers certainly let him have it with their responses with one writing, yes, thanks straight man who left your woman at the time raising your child alone. You are definitely the best person to say something about family, respect, and love. He did end up issuing an apology last night by saying acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive. My apologies to those offended was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters. Brody! And lastly, soccer star Lionel Messi says he is coming to enter Miami and joining Major League Soccer. After months of speculation, Messi announced his decision yesterday to join a Miami franchise that has been led by another global soccer icon, David Beckham, since its inception. It was widely believed and rumored that Messi eventually would choose to play for, I don't know if you pronounce it, Al-Halal in Saudi Arabia, following his longtime rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. But in the end, he made the call that surprised a lot of people. He is joining MLS.

00:57:34 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 3:

It's big. By the way, that news was big. And then when golf, the PGA, and the Live Tour went together. Real quick, we got breaking news right now. We go out live right now to our new guy, Kev. Kev, are you guys almost ready to announce?

00:57:52 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 2:

We are almost there. We're about 10 minutes away.

00:57:56 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:57:56 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 2:

We're hauling behind.

00:57:57 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 3:

All right. So on your way to Taylor with a special gift for somebody, Taylor Swift tickets. And a special guest, too, right?

00:58:08 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got a special guest. We got tickets. We're heading to Taylor. I need everybody to come out. This is something you definitely don't want to miss.

00:58:15 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 3:

We'll check back with you in just a moment. Hold on one second. All right, Shannon.

00:58:19 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 1:

And for all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:58:25 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 2:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:31 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. I feel like my wife is unfaithful to me.

00:58:40 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 1:

What?

00:58:41 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 3:

Come on. And she is like playing with me and playing with my heart a little bit here right now. And I wanted to throw this out there and ask the question of you guys. And then I want to ask the listeners this question. I need to know, do you sleep in the same bed with your spouse when they are sick? Because I have been feeling a little under the weather or had been feeling under the weather. I feel so much better today than I have the last couple of days. And actually, last night I started feeling great. And it started on Sunday night, and then it went into Monday and then Tuesday night. And my wife left the bed to go sleep in the basement. And I have to be honest with you, this has caused some pain for me because there was a point in our marriage, actually a couple of times in our marriage, a few times in our marriage where we slept in separate rooms now what kind of sickness are we talking from the top or from the bottom uh the well no no uh diarrhea okay no explosive stuff coming out of the the butthole okay um it's just that i've been congested feeling a little groggy a little tired okay and then um a couple of times i had a couple of coughing times Thank you. where I was coughing, but I have been really good right now. I do have still a little bit of, but nothing like, it's nothing like that's holding me back at all. Like my voice sounds still so beautiful. Listen to that right there.

01:00:12 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask you a question?

01:00:13 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:00:14 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 2:

Why do you want to inflict suffering on your wife?

01:00:17 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 3:

Because, well, no, hold on. I don't think I'm inflicting suffering.

01:00:20 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 2:

When you're sick, are you suffering?

01:00:23 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 3:

But here's the problem, Megan, and you have to understand this. I am somebody that really does not get better unless I know that I have the strength of this beautiful woman with me in the bed. And I need to have her next to me. I need to be able to roll over and know that she is there. At one point, I could actually see her walking around the house with a surgical mask on. Did she really? At one point, she was not feeling great. She was thinking that I got it from her and then she realized it was just in her head. So she decided that she was going to go down to the basement She was going to sleep down there And honestly, I was worried that I wasn't going to get her back And then last night I was worried, I was worried I was worried that she wasn't going to be there By the way, this is two times this morning that I'm going to dial her up This is twice today This is the most that we've talked In probably years Anytime we talk, it's usually about the kids This is us talking about each other Chelsea

01:01:19 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 1:

Hello again

01:01:21 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 3:

I am talking about how you are my rock. You are the love of my life. You are my everything. Chicago, that classic band, calls you my inspiration.

01:01:35 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What do you want?

01:01:38 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 3:

I was telling these guys how you left the bedroom for the first time since our marriage was in peril, and it crushed me this week. And I don't understand why you can't sleep in the same bed with me Even when I am not feeling well

01:01:53 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

Because you're sick And I don't want to get sick Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding

01:01:58 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, I don't know if you recall Remember Monsignor Tom? He was the guy that married us

01:02:04 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 2:

I recall

01:02:05 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 3:

He did this whole thing where he said For better or for worse He said that We would love each other For better or for worse I think he was meaning this as the worst part.

01:02:22 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

We've had much worse, but I've never promised that I would sleep in the bed with you every night.

01:02:28 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:02:28 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 1:

You can still love each other from afar.

01:02:30 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

When I went through my heart surgery, this woman was next to me, nursing me to health. Why could you sleep with me in the same bed after my heart surgery, but you couldn't sleep in the same bed with me during this time?

01:02:43 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Because you can't catch a heart problem. Because you're sick. I don't want to get sick

01:02:49 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 3:

I understand But you have to understand something My heart is weak

01:02:55 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 2:

You have nothing to talk about on the air

01:02:56 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 3:

No, come on, we got a lot We got a lot of people calling up wanting to win concert tickets And stuff like that But no, this is very important for me At one point in our marriage, I remember we used to have sick sex Like we actually used to That was not with me

01:03:10 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't know who you were talking about No, we did

01:03:12 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 3:

I remember that Because, remember, there was one time, I think it was Courtney, our friend Courtney, that told us that if you had sex while you were sick, that it actually brought back your, it made your immune system stronger.

01:03:27 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 2:

It boosted.

01:03:27 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it boosted it.

01:03:29 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

That was not me.

01:03:31 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Chels, listen.

01:03:32 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Sorry.

01:03:33 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 3:

I love you. I love you for, you could have, listen, you even pointed out yesterday you had a stress pimple. And listen, I still love you with a stress pimple.

01:03:43 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

That's not contagious

01:03:45 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 3:

You can't catch a stress pimple

01:03:47 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate that

01:03:48 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 3:

You were the cause of my stress

01:03:51 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

Thank you

01:03:52 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 3:

I just want you to know That you could be seriously Next to me Vomiting all over And I would still be there with you

01:04:03 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

Thanks

01:04:06 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Well I'm happy that you were in bed yesterday I feel so much better today I think it's because of having you next to me.

01:04:15 - 01:04:16 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:04:16 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Charles, did you hear him say that when you went to sleep down there, he was scared you were never coming back?

01:04:22 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Believe me, I didn't think I would.

01:04:25 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 3:

All right, I got to go. I got to go. I will tell you. I love you. Love you. Love you. She said love you. To be fair, we turn into big babies when we're sick. Yes. I don't know if you do, Mojo, but I do. I turn into a giant baby.

01:04:38 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 1:

You turn into big babies until you get horny, and you're like, But I think I can still do that. Really? Really?

01:04:46 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 3:

You know why? Because our immune system gets stronger. What's up? Dominga, hi.

01:04:52 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 2:

Yes?

01:04:53 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Dominga, is it asking too much to have the love of my life next to me while I'm not feeling well?

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 5:

Uh, I don't think so.

01:05:01 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, see?

01:05:02 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for that. Thanks for your support.

01:05:04 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 5:

Do you and your partner sleep together if you guys are not feeling great?

01:05:08 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and so for some reason, I'm the one that's always sick, and he never gets sick. I've had COVID, and he's been okay. I've had strep throat, and he's been okay, too.

01:05:19 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 3:

This doesn't seem fair.

01:05:22 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 4:

And he's been on a trip with his cousin. They went to Vegas, and he had COVID, and he still did not get sick.

01:05:29 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that amazing? This guy's got a great immune system. I will say this.

01:05:33 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 4:

I don't think he's an alien.

01:05:33 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 1:

I know you could be. During the COVID times, I remember Chelsea and I, we still were there with you. Actually, no, she didn't. When we didn't have any clue what was going on, it was the first time that we had COVID. I remember she actually sealed the door off to the bedroom. She had, I think, even towels down by the door. But see, we survived. What's up, Sarah? Hi.

01:05:56 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. Sometimes I make my husband Sleep in the living room I'm not willing to give up my bed

01:06:02 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 5:

Here's the thing though When you live in the same house Even if you're sleeping in separate bedrooms Which I do understand It's like you're still doomed You're in the same little space You're sharing the same little space No matter what

01:06:18 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 1:

You understand that Sarah That eventually you have to walk past that couch

01:06:21 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean But I don't have to give up my bed

01:06:24 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 1:

So it's all about your bed Sarah, people are calling me a whiner Am I a whiner?

01:06:31 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Listen, all men when they're sick Are whiners

01:06:35 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Really? That's all we do is complain? Why is it that we are supposed to be the strength In the relationship?

01:06:43 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Because listen, when you Okay, if you have strep throat And then Chelsea gets strep throat Who's going to cry about it more? And who's going to get up and take care of the kids And clean the house and still make dinner and all that Chelsea is

01:06:56 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 1:

Listen, there is no doubt that this woman is much stronger than I am in more ways than one. But there is also no doubt in this, that when I am sick, I am one of those people that I love on her more. You know what I mean? Like, I appreciate. This is where I realize that I made the right choice of having her in my life.

01:07:17 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 2:

But that's the same thing with a toddler. Like, a toddler is way more cuddly with you.

01:07:22 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true. I guess I'm a toddler. Kaelin, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:07:29 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys. Good morning.

01:07:30 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:07:32 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 3:

I am not sick. I'm just pregnant, and my husband is so fed up with me and the pregnancy pillow that he moved to our toddler bed.

01:07:40 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 1:

How dare he, that bastard?

01:07:43 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:07:44 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 1:

That's a horrible human being, by the way, that he would do something like that.

01:07:46 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 5:

But honestly, isn't it kind of nice to have that whole big bed to yourself? It is so nice.

01:07:52 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Maybe that's the thing. You've got to get a pregnancy pillow in bed. There you go. All right. Thank you. When do you do, by the way?

01:07:58 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 3:

I do in October.

01:08:00 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations. Do we know what we're having?

01:08:02 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

We're having a girl again. Oh. Congratulations. Are we happy?

01:08:05 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 1:

Are you happy about that?

01:08:07 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 3:

I am relieved because I saved all of my daughter's clothes.

01:08:11 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that awesome? That's incredible. Well, congratulations to you. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Shannon, you're panicking about the wedding date.

01:08:20 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 5:

I think I'm just like getting super stressed because we don't have a wedding date. So Wes and I got engaged back in January, right around the time of my birthday. And everybody keeps asking me, when are you guys getting married? Have you set a date yet? Where are you guys getting married? What are you doing? And I'm starting to feel panicky and uncomfortable because we don't have a specific date set yet. We have no plan whatsoever. we are just enjoying our engagement but i feel like i am getting judged for not having any sort

01:08:57 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 1:

of plan right now how are you getting judged oh you are just i don't know i feel like when when

01:09:04 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 5:

people ask oh do you guys have a date set yet and my answer is usually no we don't we're just enjoying our engagement oh the wedding is kind of at the bottom of our priority list right now which is really true we have a ton of other things on our plate and we're trying to get some other things figured out before we plan like an actual party a wedding and I feel like people look at me and they're thinking oh she she must have cold feet or they don't really want to get married and that's why they're dragging their feet have you ever had anybody say that to you at all like do you have cold feet or no no that's just like when somebody gives me the look after I say oh no we're not even really planning anything yet like we don't have any ideas of what we're

01:09:43 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 1:

going to do they look at me like i'm crazy are both you guys on the same page with waiting okay so this is not you saying i want to wait until we get some things out this is both do you know yet if it's if it's going to be a ceremony like a big ceremony are you just having a couple people or

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

the only thing that we have talked about is that

01:10:00 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 3:

When we actually get married, married, like for real married, we want it to be just our little family. So Wes and myself, he has two kids and then Lucy and Smith. We want it to be just the six of us. Very intimate. And then we'll have like a party.

01:10:13 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so. We don't know when or where. Here's the question. How long can you be engaged before people say, all right, enough already? Like what's the longest engagement? Is there anybody that has had like a really long engagement? I think back to like celebrities. Weren't there some famous celebrities? Like, wasn't there, wasn't it, was it Oprah? Or who was it that was engaged? I don't think Oprah was ever engaged. No, Oprah was never engaged. Who was, there was the, I thought there was like a long, I'm going to Google this, longest celebrity engagement. Because I felt like there was somebody that was like always engaged. And they never really.

01:10:50 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 3:

Like, we are going to get married. I just don't know, like an exact date to give you, but.

01:10:57 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, the 11 longest celebrity engagements. Oh, these ones don't seem that long. Miley and, let's see here, Miley and Liam Hemsworth engaged for six years off and on. They were. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, two years.

01:11:15 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 3:

See, two years to me is not that long.

01:11:16 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 2:

Amy Adams, seven years with Darren Legallo. What were you going to say, Megan?

01:11:23 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Did somebody say Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell?

01:11:25 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

Goldie Hawn and Chris Russell, actually, yes. Hold on, are they on this list? I don't even think they're married. No, they're not.

01:11:30 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't think they're married. I think they're just like a couple, a forever couple. I thought they were like engaged and then never wanted to get married. I don't know, who cares?

01:11:38 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

I just love her. Oh, here's one. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, four years.

01:11:43 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they were, yeah.

01:11:44 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 2:

Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde were seven years. Oh, yeah, yeah, there you go. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were engaged for three years. All right. Well, Mojo in the Morning, Nicole, how are you doing?

01:11:59 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing well. How are you?

01:12:01 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Good. Shannon has not set a wedding date, and she's starting to get the hairy eyeball from people.

01:12:08 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Shannon, do not let them do that to you. I was engaged for three years before we got married. Really? Two before we even planned our wedding. Yeah, we were young, so we wanted to finish school and kind of get our job started. but yeah we just did it our way we're like we'll get married when we get married and we did not let people pressure us or push us into doing anything before we were ready to do it yeah i

01:12:35 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 3:

feel like you tell people we're gonna get married when we want to get married and that's like not

01:12:39 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 2:

a good enough answer for them yeah kylie says that she also gets judged all the time

01:12:44 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 5:

hi kylie hi um yeah i'm a 2025 bride who's been engaged for over a year now and i still get judged it doesn't matter you could get married tomorrow and they're still going to judge you

01:12:57 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

nothing's good enough for everybody yeah yeah do people question it because they doubt it or what's

01:13:03 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 5:

the reasoning why people are so questioning um so honestly i i've gotten a bunch of different they're like why wait so long i'm like well we're paying for our own wedding everything's expensive nowadays we're gonna wait and then they're like well don't you well what if he leaves by then i'm like man he's been with me five years now if he's gonna leave he was gonna leave say that to you By the way, too. If he's going to leave, isn't that a good thing before you get married? Right. You would think, but according to them, if you get married, that's going to keep him. If he's staying for that, I don't want to get married to him. Exactly.

01:13:37 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call.

01:13:38 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely.

01:13:39 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. We thought three years was long. Samantha?

01:13:44 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:13:45 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

How long were you guys engaged?

01:13:47 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 4:

We were almost hitting seven years. Wow. Yeah. What was the reason for you guys? Well, we were still kind of young. We got engaged around 22. And I was still finishing college. And he was doing his figuring out what he wanted to do, college or apprenticeship. So it just kept getting pushed back. And then we wanted to get a house. So it was just a long, long wait.

01:14:18 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Were you concerned by like the fifth or sixth year? Or were you just, it would happen whenever it happened?

01:14:25 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 4:

No. That's one good thing about him is that there's never any doubt about it. It was just, we're young, weddings are expensive, and houses are better.

01:14:36 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Here's a question, because I understand. Houses are better.

01:14:41 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 3:

I mean, a house is a lifetime. A wedding is a day.

01:14:44 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Yours is kind of a house issue, right, isn't it? Yes.

01:14:46 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes, so Wes just sold his home on the east side, and our plan is to use the money from the sale of his home to do some things to my house that are going to make it more comfortable for all six of us. to be in the home that I'm currently living in with the kids. And so we kind of really want, well, not kind of, we want all of that stuff to be done and settled before, you know, we throw everybody under the same roof.

01:15:11 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 2:

And it wouldn't be fair to the kids if all of a sudden you just mash them all into a place that doesn't fit them, right?

01:15:17 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, my house would fit everybody, but, you know, there are certain things that we just, we want to do to make it more comfortable for everybody. And we want that to be done. We don't want to have to live through that with everybody.

01:15:29 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 2:

Somebody on the phone who is engaged for like a crazy long period of time, we're going to talk to them in just one second. But first, here's a good thing that you could say of why you're not walking down the aisle and married yet. Devin?

01:15:43 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning.

01:15:44 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Why is it okay to wait and not run down the aisle?

01:15:49 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 5:

It's completely okay to wait because if you're waiting for, you know, because you want to, good for you. Enjoy that time. That's what I thought I was going to do. And then I realized nine months later that I don't want to marry this person. They're a terrible person. And they did some unforgettable, speakable things and are now in prison. And I could have married that person. So it's okay to wait.

01:16:14 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 2:

It's okay to wait because you never know. Wes might end up in prison.

01:16:18 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 5:

For what, though, would it be, though? I think your case is different. I think, you know.

01:16:24 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

No, Megan wants to know what it was that this person did that got him in. Oh, no, no, I met Wes. You met Wes.

01:16:30 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, all right.

01:16:33 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 2:

How about this for an engagement? Listen to Danielle. Danielle, how long of an engagement?

01:16:39 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 5:

19 years. Oh, my goodness.

01:16:43 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 2:

Aren't you already married at that point?

01:16:44 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Pretty much, yeah. We have a house.

01:16:48 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 3:

We have two kids. Are you guys ever going to get married, or are you just going to stay engaged? Like, that's your thing?

01:16:53 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Finances, I don't know. It's expensive to get married.

01:16:58 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:16:59 - 01:17:02 | Speaker 5:

And now it's like 19 years. We pretty much aren't married.

01:17:02 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

Aren't you already married? Now it's your thing.

01:17:04 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Do you want to get married or at this point is it just- I do want to get married. Okay.

01:17:09 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

What if we marry you? Can I'll just marry you? Yeah. We'll marry you right now. Put them on the phone. By the way, at this point right now, can you put on a tuxedo and a white dress and go get married like that? If you've been together for 19 years and you already know every deep, dark secret about each other?

01:17:28 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we could. But why not take a vacation and elope together? Are you talking to me or her?

01:17:34 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we've talked about that. Both.

01:17:36 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 2:

You guys, why don't you have a double wedding with Shannon? There you go. And the prison couple. Let's get the prison couple. I mean, that would be like one hell of a one.

01:17:45 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys know who the Moonies are?

01:17:47 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that like a religious group or something? It is.

01:17:50 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 4:

It is. And they do those mass weddings? We should do that with everybody who's been engaged like five years or longer listening right now with Shannon. And we just put you like in LCA. Mojo will be up on stage. We'll do a mass wedding for all of our listeners. I just said I want it to be small and intimate. Absolutely not. Same thing.

01:18:10 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning show. Megan is getting ready to go on this vacation. She's going on a family cruise and has a question to ask that pertains to whether or not Megan, when she's on this cruise, can drink while she's on the cruise.

01:18:26 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 4:

It's something that I didn't even think about until, honestly, just the other day, and now I feel so guilty, but I don't know if I'm overthinking it. So we booked this cruise, and if you've ever been on a cruise before, you know that when it comes to drinking, it's very, very expensive. so what people normally do is those like all you can drink packages which I didn't know at the time included like all of your coffees all of your like pretty much any drink that you're gonna have uh while you're you're away and so we just thought it was the best financial option to do that everybody recommends it and so cool booked that a few weeks ago now at this point um but as I was sitting thinking about the trip because I'm stressed out about it. Obviously in my little group that I'm taking, it's me and two boys. So I'm doing all the heavy lifting and all of the planning. Um, I've been sitting, stressing, whatever. And I realized somebody that we're going with is, is sober. And now I feel very guilty because I don't know if, because this person is sober, should we all not be drinking? But then at the same time, this sounds bad, But I spent a lot of money, and I don't really drink that much either. And I was planning on really kicking back and relaxing during this trip, being around people I'll never see again. I was going to kind of let more loose than I normally would and have a lot of fun. And now I feel like it would be inappropriate for me to do so.

01:19:54 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

So can you drink? Can you have some drinks or drink?

01:20:00 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 6:

and go crazy uh while you're on this vacation with somebody who doesn't drink correct i i think you can i've had you know family and i do have family that um they they don't drink uh in you know some are are definitely battling alcoholism and i think we still have alcohol at parties and stuff i think in the beginning i think you kind of pulled back a little bit but yeah go ahead i quit for like

01:20:28 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 5:

five years it was a lifestyle choice it was a I needed to calm down I needed to dial back I made some bad choices so I quit for five years um and then I at that point you start to realize like certain people you stop hanging out with but you also hate to be that person that's like are they gonna care if they drink around me so I think you need to have a conversation with them because they don't want to feel like nobody wants to be around them because they don't drink yeah because that's the first thing you fall into is like everybody's worried and you now think about it that they can't drink around you and it makes it very uncomfortable and my friends who are sober by

01:21:05 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 4:

choice they will say it would make me uncomfortable if you chose not to drink just because i choose not to like please go ahead and do your normal thing especially if it's a vacation now i've had people in my life who are sober and you know are in aa and in the beginning we all just out of support you know stopped drinking around them but even now like they'll say no this this is my thing this is my decision my choice you you know enjoy yourself I used to host I think a lot of kiss

01:21:36 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 3:

listeners will know this club kiss for like five years and for five years I was the sober person in a bar because I had to drive station vehicles and I was working and everybody around me was having a blast partying hammer drunk and i remember sometimes i had great nights and sometimes i was like all of you people are so annoying like i i am way too sober for this and i don't want this person on their vacation to feel like they're just surrounded by people they don't want to be around

01:22:04 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 5:

and now i feel very guilty well what made me feel better too and maybe this is something they could do is i would have a beverage i would put a red bull in a glass with with ice so it looked like And I still do this today I will have one drink And it'll look like I'm drinking all night long When in reality I've only had one drink But back then I would put Red Bull In a glass Just to have that feeling Of walking around With something in their hand Because then nobody's Questioning it Nobody's even thinking About it Amber what's going on?

01:22:32 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 2:

Good morning Mojo

01:22:33 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 6:

Good morning

01:22:34 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 2:

I just want to say to Megan That it's super sweet To respect them And I get that You feel guilty But just don't ask them Like Want to do a shot? Would you like a drink? Yeah. And just make it okay. Shot.

01:22:49 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. That would probably not be good. Troy, what's up, Troy? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:22:55 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going? I was just going to say that my family left for a cruise today, and I'm sober, Megan. And the most irritating thing to me is the fact that none of my family will drink around me. And it's like the fact that I have a drinking problem, that's not my family's fault. You know what I'm saying? they don't have a drinking problem you know they can they can have a drop i know that i can't you know what i'm saying so yeah i have a drinking problem i know that that's not their fault but when they don't drink around me it's more of a pet peeve to me than it is interesting you know it actually really kind of hurts me i feel like i'm ruining their fun more than yeah yeah and like

01:23:33 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 6:

they're talking behind your back so to speak too right isn't it funny yeah i feel uncomfortable

01:23:37 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 1:

at holidays you know what i'm saying i holidays and stuff for a while i wouldn't even go there Like, you know, I didn't want to ruin. I just had my mom's 60th birthday party and I left so that she could have more fun, you know, because I know she wouldn't fully enjoy herself.

01:23:50 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 6:

And this is going to be the rest of your life, too. So, you know, this is one of those things that you're battling for the rest of your life. What were you saying, Meg?

01:23:56 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 3:

I think it's really funny that both sides of this are like, I just feel guilty. I don't want the other person to feel bad. Like, it's it's funny to me that everybody's trying to be respectful or whatever and everybody feels guilty. Like, it's not a one sided thing.

01:24:09 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 6:

And the biggest thing that I will say to you is make your choice now because don't you have to buy the drinking package?

01:24:15 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 3:

She already did. I already did. Yeah, everybody did. Well, here's the thing. Would it be a little bit of a waste of money? Yes. But I can still use it for other things like coffees and stuff like that. So I wouldn't.

01:24:28 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 6:

She's going to be wired on caffeine.

01:24:29 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 4:

But also, remember, you're not going to be around this person like 24-7.

01:24:34 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:24:35 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what I mean? So if you really wanted to have a drink and really felt uncomfortable drinking around them, you could just choose to have a drink when you weren't around them.

01:24:42 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 6:

01:34:41 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 6:

We're getting a little signal interference on the phone right now because of all the people that are there using their phones to try to win tickets. But real quick, will you give me a liner, please? Will you say, hi, this is Traylor Swift, and when I'm in Detroit, Grand Rapids, or Toledo, I listen to Mojo in the morning?

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Of course. Hey, y'all, it's Traylor Smith.

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 1:

And I listen to Mojo in the Morning.

01:35:03 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:35:05 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, what's trending in the Dirty on the 30? Do you hear this story about NBA star Zion Williamson? Zion, yeah. He and his girlfriend, Akima, announced they were having, they're pregnant, they're having a baby. That was Tuesday. Well, one day later, on Wednesday, yesterday, Williamson was called out by a porn star named Mariah Mills on Twitter who claimed that she was just with the Pelican star last week. She wrote, I motivated you to get back in shape. I let you F me all kinds of ways and fill me on your phone and you impregnate a low-budget porn star DNA test or I'm done. She went on, your baby mama is the reason you gain weight. She toxic. I hate this for you. Better pray I'm not pregnant too because I'm definitely late.

01:35:55 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so the pregnant girlfriend of his is pregnant. The porn star is the one that's saying that she was his diet, too?

01:36:06 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that she was trying to get him back into shape because his baby mama was the one that was making him fat, essentially. But this porn star says she's been involved with Zion since 2021. She also called his girlfriend a, quote-unquote, burnt-out baby mom. and even went as far as to share some Snapchat messages between her and the NBA star. So that is a messy situation.

01:36:30 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 2:

He's been a flop, hasn't he, by the way, in the NBA?

01:36:32 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and if she's pregnant, this is better than Scandavall. If she's not, what a mess. Yeah.

01:36:38 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 2:

This is the NBA's version of Scandavall.

01:36:40 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yes. Elliot Page reveals in his new memoir, Page Boy, that he had a secret two-year relationship with a female co-star who was not out of the closet. He calls the actress Ryan in the book, the same name he had her under in his cell phone. This was 10 years ago on the set of a movie, and he says they fell desperately in love with one another. He writes they had to be very discreet, which meant refraining from public affection, keeping their relationship from friends and family. The latest bombshell revelation comes after he confessed to having a relationship with his X-Men co-star Kate Mara and also his Juno co-star Olivia Thurlby. He met this Ryan, this mystery actress, in a coffee shop writing, quote, she was radiant, her dress, that smile, how she pushed her hair from her face. We discussed books, activism, our collective consciousness, and the deep intelligence of nature. That turned into some really wild sexual escapades. Elliot felt like Ryan couldn't handle the shame of being seen as a queer person, and so they broke things off. He then recalls bumping into this actress shortly after He said he saw her arriving at a party with an unnamed male date And he said he had to fake food poisoning in order to remove himself from the situation Did Ryan ever come out? Because he was hurting so bad I don't believe so Because that's kind of outing Ryan, right? Well, and that's why Ryan is obviously not this actress' real name Nor did Elliot name the boy that this Ryan came to the party with. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have allegedly called it quits again. They just got back together about six weeks ago at Coachella, but I've already broken up and sources tell me this time it is done and done. They've got a lot of history. They tested the waters again, but they've realized it was a mistake to give things another shot. That things ended between them for the first time for a reason. And so they just know at this point that they are not right for each other romantically. And they just want to move on.

01:38:48 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

So they couldn't come together or come to terms with contract agreements? Is that what it was? Right. Yeah. They didn't have, nobody wrote them another song or something. Right.

01:38:56 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 1:

I love, I love that you just did that. Welcome to the dark side of the dairies. Fox News not happy with Tucker Carlson reviving his show over on Twitter. not happy to the tune of a letter that was sent yesterday notifying Tucker's lawyers that he violated his contract when he launched that. So Fox fired Tucker in April following that massive defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. Carlson's lawyers disagreed with Fox saying he was within his First Amendment rights and Fox can't justify illegal action against him, but still he got the boot. Tucker's legal team says Twitter is not directly competitive with Fox News, so there is zero breach

01:39:38 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 2:

of contract here. Did you see how many people watched that first episode? Didn't it do better than his show when it was on Fox? Or at least

01:39:44 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 1:

better than what's on Fox in that time slot

01:39:46 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

now. There have been, as far as views are concerned, over 71 what is it? No, 102 million. 102 million views.

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but how much of that is Twitter?

01:40:00 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 3:

automatically gives you a full view if you watch one second of the video which it automatically plays and they're feeding it to people's timelines on purpose i'm i'm not saying the show isn't doing well i do think just one episode well i think elon's trying to inflate the numbers so he's forcing it onto everybody's timeline who's using the platform it automatically plays it counts as

01:40:20 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 4:

a view well it is intriguing because you know you see a lot of people that are choosing to go to different platforms instead of doing the traditional network stuff and uh in their finding that they're getting just as many uh advertisers that way so it's interesting we've had successful

01:40:38 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 2:

youtubers for a very very long time yeah and 10 minutes into a matinee performance of megan you might know how to pronounce this because i don't prima facie on broadway prima facie i don't know a play on broadway yesterday in new york city actress jody comer stopped the play because of these Canadian wildfires and what they're doing to the air. The air on the East Coast is now ranking as the world's worst. And the star of the show told the audience, literally stopped the play and said she couldn't breathe. The stage manager helped her off stage. The one woman Broadway show later started over with an understudy. But later in the day, last night, I know evening performances of Hamilton, Camelot, a few Broadway productions were canceled because the actors and actresses cannot read.

01:41:27 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 1:

How much postage does it take to send a letter to Canada?

01:41:30 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 2:

Who's it going to?

01:41:31 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 1:

Canada. It says, dear Canada, f*** you. Yeah, we are.

01:41:36 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 2:

There is an air quality alert in effect right now for our listening area. Pretty crazy. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

01:41:44 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 4:

Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com. Here we are. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. So, Michael, Miguel, yesterday, I think it was even right around this time, we talked about you and the college girls.

01:42:03 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 5:

Yes, we did.

01:42:04 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 4:

That topic, by the way, I just want you to know, I had more people yesterday talking to me about how Mike is the guy that they should be a sitcom based around. just because you get yourself caught up in some troubles. And I think it would be appropriate, wouldn't it? Yeah. And Kevin James would be playing you or something, the guy from the King of Queens.

01:42:25 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:42:26 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 4:

We have to find, like, the perfect person. Who's the perfect person to play Mike in this sitcom? But you have another one of those Mike moments that happen with you and Allie to talk about.

01:42:38 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know if people bribe their delivery person. So if you do, please let me know so I can justify this. I told you guys I ordered a couch a while ago, and we've been just kind of waiting on it. We went to Bob's Discount Furniture, and so we've been waiting on it, waiting to get the money situated and all that. But then when we ordered it, I was the one who went through and did all the ordering stuff, and I tried to save a couple bucks, tried to save a little bit of money. And so when they came to deliver it yesterday, I got a picture from my wife and a phone call from Bob's Discount Furniture telling me that I didn't pay the extra to have them actually put it in my house. So right now I have a, or yesterday I had a garage with boxed up furniture just sitting there and they weren't going to put it in the house. And it's not wrapped. It's none of that.

01:43:29 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 4:

It's just like a piece together. So it's not even they won't, they'll deliver it to your house, but they won't put it in your house unless you pay a little bit extra to have them put it in your house.

01:43:37 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 5:

What? Yeah.

01:43:38 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 4:

And it's my fault.

01:43:39 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 5:

It's my fault. Like I, they asked for it. It wasn't that much more, but I was like, you know what? This is, this is a, I mean, it's an expensive couch. I finally put some money into a couch because we had that poop couch before. So I was like, I need a good couch that was going to last us a very long time. And then I started like, all right, well, we're not going to do this. And we're not going to have this on there. I started like taking a little bit of money off here and there. So I should have probably just clicked the box and said, yes, go ahead, put it inside the house. So once I get that phone call, I'm like, Allie, we, you got to get them to bring that in the house. It's just us and you just had a baby. You're not going to help me lift this into the house. I said, you have to bribe them. I said, give them, you know, respectfully, give them whatever they want. Wait a minute. Hold on a second. There are some boundaries here. Yes, there is a line.

01:44:27 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 2:

Sounded like a pet. What did you tell her to bribe them with?

01:44:32 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, at first it was just like, hey, can we give you some cash? Can we give you a little extra? And I think they said no right away. And I said, Allie, and I didn't want to do this because I'm still jealous over it. You remember that egg sandwich that she made for the construction guy at her old house? Oh, do I remember?

01:44:49 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 2:

I do.

01:44:49 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 5:

The infamous egg sandwich. Yes. Still haven't had that. But I said, Allie, you go make that egg sandwich.

01:44:56 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Can you go real quick before you tell us what she did?

01:45:00 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 2:

Can you real quick explain? She made an egg sandwich, which she never made for you, but made it for, who was it again?

01:45:09 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

The guy was fixing the driveway at our old house, and he was there just kind of standing around waiting for stuff to dry. And she's like, well, I'm going to invite him in, and the kids were there and stuff, but I'm going to invite him in and offer him some food or whatever. And so she made this sandwich that I've never seen before, this delicious, incredible sandwich that I've never seen before. had eggs it had a little turkey slice on it i believe oh yeah oh yeah yeah made with love and care and it went to this uh this guy who was fixing the driveway which was i was jealous okay

01:45:39 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 2:

i'll say i was i was very jealous this this time though now you're pulling out the secret weapon

01:45:44 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 1:

the jealousy weapon of the egg sandwich for this if it gets the couches moved inside because otherwise i'm going to be standing there by myself trying to lift this couch into our into our house

01:45:56 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 2:

And like you said You don't want your wife lifting anything Because she just had a baby

01:46:01 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 1:

No, yeah And also I screwed up So I'm trying to fix it at the same time

01:46:06 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 5:

I'm surprised they wouldn't take cash, by the way

01:46:08 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 1:

No, they did not It was something, I guess, in the agreement That I signed when I bought the couches I had the option to

01:46:15 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 5:

Right, no, I know some of those You have to pay for that I think they call it like a white glove delivery or something Yeah That they'll bring it in Is it wrapped in plastic and stuff?

01:46:25 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah have you ever tried paying somebody money and it worked oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah you've done it i've

01:46:31 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 5:

done it yes yes i had to remove furniture after i bought furniture i'm like wait but i don't even want i want i don't want what i had here in its place um and sometimes you know especially to take things yeah none of the none of the um places that i normally donate to were accepting donations

01:46:47 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 2:

art man used to be the best at the delivery drivers used to be the best at accepting bribes to do things i actually had them like rearranged my entire living room at one point there were It's so good. And then, Mike, I also paid the neighbor had a landscaping company over, and they were cutting the lawn. And I didn't want to cut my lawn that week because I was too tired. And I went over across the street and paid them money to do that.

01:47:09 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 1:

That's so smart. I don't understand why these guys didn't want to take it.

01:47:12 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, tell me about the bribe. Did she do it? Did she do the egg sandwich?

01:47:17 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 1:

No. No, she didn't. She said no. She said, Mike, I'm not going to be. She's like, you should have signed up for this. We'll figure it out. I said, really? we're not there's nothing we can do is that i'm either gonna have to push this couch into our house or it's gonna sit there and we're gonna have a garage couch that's our new garage go get

01:47:34 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

the college girls from next door they'll help oh yes thank you yeah wow um that is man so what did

01:47:42 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 1:

you do yeah what did you do i had i'm we have a couch that's in our garage halfway in the door halfway out the door right now as i try to push it yeah i'm i got some of it in the house myself and then i'm just gonna call i'll call a friend eventually but at that point you get that new stuff you're like i want it in the house now i want the new couch in the house so we got like an ottoman and partial parts of the couch i could get it in because i could slide it in once i get there yeah i'm just gonna dance there's i'm gonna damage something i should have just paid the damn

01:48:10 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

thing wow why don't delivery drivers accept i don't know delivery drivers call us up and tell us that well maybe they're on the clock or maybe they're being watched by cameras or something

01:48:21 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 4:

what's going on brooke hi yeah i definitely bribed delivery driver before yeah and they didn't have any problem taking your money did they no not at all we had a couch delivered and it was from a really nice company and so we did pay for that delivery but we had a second couch we were gonna like move in place of it and it was on our second floor and we bribed them with cash and I think I gave them like a granola bar and they did it first.

01:48:45 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 5:

That was a steal. Yeah.

01:48:48 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 4:

It was so nice. It was definitely less than like this $300 it would have taken to like pay for another couch removal. Right. But they definitely took a couple bucks and some food and they were on their way.

01:48:56 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 2:

I still don't understand why these companies don't just say, all right, here's the price and we'll deliver it to you. Delivery included, you know. I know that that's their, it's Bob's discount. Maybe that's how they were able to do the discount because there's probably people that are willing

01:49:11 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 1:

to bring their own trucks right and go get it or yeah oh i could have easily yes i could have just went and picked it up myself but they offered the delivery service and i was like i don't have a truck to do that so deliver it the other thing i forgot about is they do have that service well if you pay a little bit extra they'll take your couch like you guys just said so right now i have a couch sitting in my front yard just like just like just like a normal adult human boot yes you're

01:49:33 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

like it's like a college frat right there in front of your house yes hold on a second jen uh what's

01:49:39 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 3:

up there's a reason why they can't yes i work for a online retail company and if it's not marked in-home delivery or white glove service yeah per the delivery driver's contract they're not allowed to bring it inside and the reasoning is

01:49:58 - 01:49:59 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:50:00 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sure if it's a liability issue or if it's all about the money for the company. I can see the liability issue. Yeah, some delivery drivers will do it as a courtesy, but most of them won't. I get a lot of customers calling in complaining that it's sitting, like, by their front door. Like, they can't open their door because they have these big boxes. Yes, that always happens to me. Delivery company left.

01:50:31 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 7:

That should be a liability right there. Yeah. God forbid that house start on fire or those people are trapped.

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:50:39 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 7:

Manny is on with us right now. Manny, what's going on?

01:50:42 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. How's it going? I own Manny's Moving and Delivering, and we do this every day, seven days a week.

01:50:50 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 7:

You'll actually move people's stuff that was delivered to their garage into their house?

01:50:55 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there are so many companies out there that won't bring it inside the house. At the end of the day, it comes down to the money. You know, it's not worth it for these big companies to do that, so they'll just drop it off. And then, you know, you've got Mr. and Mrs. Smith sitting there, like, how are we going to get this couch inside of our house? And then they look up services, and I'm one of the top people on Google. Manny's moving and delivering. We're based out of Clinton Township, and we can take care of that for you today. Wow. Great business idea.

01:51:25 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 7:

Manny, would you do it for an egg sandwich?

01:51:27 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Or a granola bar. I don't know for an egg sandwich, but we do have a...

01:51:33 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 7:

How about the five plugs you just gave yourself on the radio, Manny?

01:51:37 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man, maybe that, too. We'll hook you guys up no matter what. Give us a call. Manny's moving on. He does it again.

01:51:44 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 7:

All right, Manny. All right, Manny. Hold on a second. Amanda bribed a tow truck driver to move a car for you. Is that right?

01:51:52 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So it was actually, it was like an icy freeway, and a lot of us get off the side of the road probably at different times, but we all called our tow truck drivers. The first one that showed up was for, like, this Mustang down in, like, a ditch, and we all paid off that tow truck driver to get us all out.

01:52:08 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 7:

Oh, wow. And what did you have to pay off with?

01:52:11 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

I think it was, like, $30, but it was, like, the only person on the street.

01:52:15 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 7:

You guys must be cute. Cute girls can do it.

01:52:18 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it was, like, six different people, like, in different vehicles. Yeah. Wow.

01:52:22 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 7:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Everybody always wants to know after we talk about Mike's topic here about the egg sandwich, you know, from the past, can Allie give her recipe for the egg sandwich? I swear to God, if somebody else has it before I do, I'm going to be pissed. Taylor Swift and Kev are back in studio this morning. Great job again, guys. Oh, man.

01:52:46 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Shout out to everyone that pulled up, everyone that showed love. Shout out to our winners. It was amazing to see some of the listeners, but I think the real star of the show was Traylor Swift. She was, wasn't she?

01:52:57 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, y'all. Hey, y'all. It's Traylor Swift.

01:53:02 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 8:

It's insanity to me.

01:53:04 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 7:

I have to play, because they asked the question. They said, how did it sound on the air? And I said, it was amazing. If you hear it in a second here, maybe at the end of the Dirty Hour, I'll go get it and cue it up for you. But if you hear the people singing along to you guys, and that was what gave me chills. The mere fact that people were singing there.

01:53:25 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

I had chills waiting in the car just thinking, I'm not even a real celebrity. Like, I give her a ton of credit, and I was so out of breath singing with them and playing. I thought I was going to die, and I smell so bad right now.

01:53:39 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 5:

But the crazy thing is KP has real-life skills. Yeah. Like, she was really playing the guitar and singing. It was incredible.

01:53:47 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. All right. What do you got in this hour's dirty?

01:53:49 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 8:

All right. Well, everybody's talking about the Vanderpump Rules reunion. Raquel Levis admitting she is absolutely in love with Tom Sandoval.

01:53:58 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 6:

Why couldn't you stop? Why did you have to keep going?

01:54:02 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 4:

It was almost impossible to turn away from.

01:54:05 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 6:

You were in love.

01:54:08 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You're ugly. You're hideous. I know. You're rotten on the inside. Rotten. like a moldy piece of fruit rotten you are still in love tom you are in love sorry i'm gonna laugh this is delusional this is hilarious and delusional

01:54:30 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 3:

it's a very simple question are you in love or are you not i'm sorry yes yes grody

01:54:40 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 8:

One of the bombshells, Raquel admitting that she slept with Tom Sandoval for the second time while they were vacationing in Mexico. Actually, several times on that vacation. Also confessing that their affair picked up speed after filming for the show was over. She also claimed it ate.

01:55:00 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 2:

her alive not to tell her friend ariana the truth about what was going on i'm so ashamed and

01:55:07 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 7:

embarrassed that i'm even capable of keeping the secret from somebody who has been in my corner since the beginning ariana i'm so sorry for betraying you i can't even fathom the pain that i've caused you i have been completely selfish and you're right selfish is not the right word because it doesn't even begin to describe the state of mind I have been in.

01:55:35 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

Spider-Man, No Way Home star Tom Holland says he's taken a little break from acting after producing and starring in that Apple TV Plus limited series The Crowded Room.

01:55:44 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm no stranger to hard work. I've always sort of lived by this idea that hard work is good work. And I really enjoyed it. But then again, the show did break me and I'm now taking a year off. And, you know, that is a result of how difficult this show was.

01:55:57 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Soccer star Lionel Messi said he is coming to Inter-Miami and joining Major League Soccer after months upon months of speculation. Messi announcing that huge decision yesterday to join a Miami franchise that has been led by another global soccer icon, David Beckham, since its inception. Yeah, so coming to MLS. I know a lot of people talking about that yesterday. Big, big news in the sports world. Is he still good?

01:56:23 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:56:23 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Messi?

01:56:24 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 6:

Just won the World Cup. I know he won the World Cup, but didn't they say he's kind of older, though?

01:56:29 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 5:

No, Messi is still great.

01:56:30 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 6:

All right.

01:56:30 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 7:

He's like the Tom Brady.

01:56:33 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 6:

Is he? Okay, so he's Tom Brady of soccer, then. But he's not as pretty as Tom Brady.

01:56:38 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 3:

Why are you saying no, Mike?

01:56:39 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 5:

I said, well, I don't know if he's the Tom Brady of soccer. He's the greatest of all time? The greatest soccer player to ever play?

01:56:46 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 6:

I thought that that belonged to David Beckham.

01:56:49 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, him, Cristiano Ronaldo. Or Cristiano Ronaldo.

01:56:54 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 3:

This is a, oh, go ahead. No, you're good. I like Ronaldinho, but, yeah.

01:56:58 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 6:

I have no idea. Soccer is one of those sports I only like during World Cup time. It's just because people are excited about it.

01:57:03 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but those sport names are always in the World Cup.

01:57:05 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, America hosts the Copa America in 2024, so this messy deal is just in time for that.

01:57:11 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, yeah. This is a really scary story. Instagram's algorithms linked and even promoted a massive, massive pedophile network that advertised the sale of illicit child sex material. This brand new report finds that Instagram allowed users to search by hashtags related to child sex abuse, including graphic terms like preteen sex and pedo bait. The hashtags directed users to accounts that offer to sell materials via menus of content, including videos of children harming themselves or committing acts of bestiality. Some accounts allowed buyers to commission specific acts from these children or arrange meetups. I mean, it's just gross. Meta has since restricted the use of thousands of search terms and hashtags on Instagram and also said it disabled nearly half a million accounts that violated its child safety policies. And Tupac Shakur finally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yesterday's ceremony paid homage to the beloved West Coast rapper's long list of achievements. his sister said, said a few words.

01:58:19 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 3:

Tupac knew deep down that he was always meant for something great. And as his little sister had the privilege to watch that greatness unfold. From the first time he stepped foot on the stage of the Apollo Theater at 13 years old, before anyone recognized his name, he knew he had the dream to have a star here on the Walk of Fame.

01:58:42 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 2:

Special ceremony guests, by the way, included Mike Epps, YG, Money B, and a whole ton of other people over there to celebrate.

01:58:48 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's good.

01:58:49 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page. Exactly. I don't know. What in the morning is it?

01:58:53 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 6:

That's great. Because he's not dead. Oh, maybe, you know what? Mike might have a good point. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

01:59:04 - 01:59:17 | Speaker 5:

Good song. And that's how it's supposed to be. How can you double take a brother if it's close to me? I gotta go back to where we played these kids with their chains. That's the way it is. That's just the way it is.

01:59:18 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 6:

Do you guys want to hear what it sounded like? Yeah. Okay, so Traylor Swift, Taylor Tickets in Taylor, Michigan, KP dressed up as Traylor Swift or Taylor Swift, performing, and listen to everybody singing along, okay? So check this out. I mean, hundreds and hundreds of people.

01:59:57 - 02:00:29 | Unknown:

Oh. Thank you.

02:00:00 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. KP as Traylor Swift!

02:00:28 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know why I get so excited over this,

02:00:38 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 2:

but I was opening some mail that was sent to me yesterday, and it was a card from my mother and father-in-law, Joe and Mary, the parents of Jesus. I still love that. Isn't that wild? I love it. Joe and Mary. And I open it up, and I was like, will they, will they, will they? Yes, they did. My birthday is on Sunday, and they put cash in the card.

02:01:13 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

Did it fall out onto your lap?

02:01:16 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, I didn't let it because I opened it up so slow. I was like so slow to open it up. But why is it that as a grown adult, getting cash in a card is still exciting to you?

02:01:27 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 3:

It'll never get old

02:01:29 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

It's such an awesome feeling isn't it Like you remember when you were a kid And you remember it was always like Your grandma or grandpa They would come over and they would give you cash And a card and you'd get so excited Over it and I remember my Grandpa got on this kick for a while Of savings bonds Did you ever get savings bonds

02:01:48 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Every Christmas my grandpa Counsel would get a savings bond

02:01:52 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 2:

You'd get savings bonds and I would get so Disappointed I'd be like savings bonds That or a check, because there's nothing like cash. It could just be all ones. I don't care, but I want a thick stack of cash in there. I feel bad for kids these days. You want to know why I feel bad? Because everybody does Venmo or Cash App or, you know, Zelle. And there's nothing better. And I know that there are those cash haters that are out there. I was waiting for her to speak. But the cash haters. There are those cash haters out there that don't like to carry cash. But when you open a card, isn't it the greatest feeling in the world?

02:02:31 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 1:

Yes and no, but the last time I got cash as a gift, I could tell you that cash is still sitting on my kitchen table. I will not use cash. Who uses cash?

02:02:42 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 2:

Not all of us can be as rich as you to not use cash.

02:02:46 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 1:

You would be shocked to know what tax bracket I'm in. It is the lowest one. How much money was given to you?

02:02:51 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 2:

No, how much money was given to you? Because I will take it off your hands. I will send you on Venmo money for that.

02:02:57 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you? It was a crisp $50 bill. I know. I know. I know. I can't. Where am I going to take it? Nobody takes those bills anymore. Yes, they do.

02:03:09 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 2:

Every place does.

02:03:10 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 1:

What place?

02:03:12 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 2:

Every place that you go to in the history of Denver.

02:03:14 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 1:

Every place I go to says no bills over $20.

02:03:16 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Where are you hanging out? Are you hanging out in... You know what? The only places that don't take that, you know, cash like that are places that, I don't know, like the juice stores or something like that. Usually when I go to the juice place, they're not really into that. They want, they have the, any place that has the iPad as your, as their cash register. You should take it to that pie place that you go to. Schmuckers? Yeah.

02:03:41 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 1:

I bet Schmuckers is the kind of place that says no bills over $20. And buy everyone there a piece of pie.

02:03:47 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, 50 bucks worth of pies. Or, yeah, don't ask for any money back. Be one of those people, like the celebrities that- Pay it forward. Like 50 Cent that gave a $1,000 tip the other day. Make it Megan Mondays and just go buy pie for people. What kind of pie do people like? They like apple. Annie. Yeah, Annie. Annie. Well, okay, how about prune pie?

02:04:07 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 3:

No, key lime pie is my favorite.

02:04:08 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Key lime's great.

02:04:09 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, key lime pie. So this is making me miss Shani's granny so much because she would always give us cash in a birthday card. But she would make the fan She would do the accordion And she would make it into a pretty pattern Inside the card

02:04:26 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Did you hate when the bills got stuck together And you were trying to rip them apart

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 3:

Because she scotch taped them in there

02:04:31 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 2:

So quick question for you Because I said I'm too old for this

02:04:36 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 3:

You're not

02:04:36 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Are there things that you're too old for But still do Like there's things that you get so excited about

02:04:43 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 3:

I love Happy Meals

02:04:44 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 2:

I love Happy Meals That's a great one. Yeah. Is it for the toy, or is it just like the packaging?

02:04:50 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 3:

No, I tell them no toy, because I'll just throw it away. I tell them no toy, but I love a Happy Meal.

02:04:56 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. That's the whole point of a Happy Meal, isn't it?

02:04:58 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

The toys are crap nowadays.

02:05:00 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that doesn't matter. You still get the toy. It brings you a little bit of serotonin, and then you throw it away.

02:05:06 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 2:

I still get excited going into a, you know, Walgreens or a CVS and going down the toy aisle, which is not really an aisle anymore.

02:05:15 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:05:15 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 2:

Because I remember that was the only place that I would ever get a toy from grandma or grandpa or mom or dad, you know?

02:05:21 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 4:

I remember going into the, like, huge department stores where they had the toy aisle, and my mom literally letting me go to the toy aisle and just spend time there. And then she calls your name over the intercom. It was like, Kevin, your mom's ready on aisle 25. You're like, oh. Oh, my gosh.

02:05:36 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you, back in the day, I remember Art Van had their, it was the Novi store. The furniture store had a play area where you could drop your kids off, leave them, and then go shop around the store. And it had like a castle that was in there. And I always remember, I was a young dad at the time, and I always remember going and dropping like Joey off there. And thinking to myself, I want to play in that thing Like, are you ever too old to play in a play place?

02:06:06 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 1:

Ball pits were the best

02:06:07 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 3:

Chuck E. Cheese's, you know See, that's what I grew up on is those type of things So like a Dave and Buster's to me I know, not everybody's a fan of Dave and Buster's But I love, I love, love, love Like video games and ball pits and all that stuff too

02:06:21 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh man Sometimes, you know, it's funny Because you think about like birthday parties That you had when you were a kid I remember we had a place called Rainbow Cone that was by our house. And it was just like the people on the East Coast that had Friendly's, or I think they were called. Rainbow Cone was a really big place in the south side of Chicago. They just opened up a new one. And my friends were all there, like on Facebook and Instagram. They're all taking pictures of them going now as adults to Rainbow Cone because it was so cool.

02:06:52 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 1:

You know what's a big one this week is you are never too old to make friendship bracelets. Because anybody who's going to Taylor Swift, even if you are 40 years old, you are making, like, friendship. You're cracking out the box of beads and the embroidery floss, and you're making friendship bracelets. Did somebody give you one? Not just somebody.

02:07:10 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Lydia gave me a friendship bracelet, and I love her for it because it's amazing.

02:07:14 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

02:07:16 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 4:

And I got so mad at her because she made him one first. No. And I got mine today.

02:07:21 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 5:

I want one.

02:07:22 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 4:

Lydia.

02:07:23 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Lydia made you one? What's the story? Why does Lydia have this special place in her heart for you, Kev?

02:07:29 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 4:

We just connect, man.

02:07:32 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 5:

Actually, Kev, I do love you, but I'm making Taylor Swift friendship bracelets for our listeners, and I happened to make one for Kev because he asked.

02:07:40 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so it's really nothing special. Close mouths don't. I mean, my story was better. I mean, geez, Lydia. Laura wants. Yeah, what's that?

02:07:46 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 5:

We know who she likes, and she doesn't like around here, don't we?

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Or we know. I'm here for you, Megan.

02:07:50 - 02:07:51 | Unknown:

Hey, wait.

02:07:51 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 2:

We need to just ask.

02:07:52 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I got one because I complained. That's why.

02:07:54 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 2:

Laura has some advice for Megan Who's got 50 bucks burning a hole in her pocket Right now

02:08:01 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 6:

I do Megan, I really do Why are you not taking the same to the dispensary girl?

02:08:05 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 2:

The dispensary

02:08:06 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you want to know my disgusting habit This is literally my disgusting habit I would never do this Because it's not legal in Ohio But like hypothetically speaking When I do go up I make large orders So that I don't have to go up all of the time right right but i just haven't been up in a while i'll hold on to it till the next time girl smart you gotta come up here and get them okay what area are you in where should i

02:08:37 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 6:

go um i'm in chesterfield so there's a good place on um excuse me called jars um i've heard good

02:08:45 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 2:

things yeah okay yeah for those that have never been good yeah yeah but yeah the guy the guy who

02:08:55 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 5:

works security at my place is so hot and he flirts with me every time it's so hard to compete with that he treats me like a queen he doesn't know who i am i did it but like oh it makes me feel

02:09:05 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 6:

good the free gift is a new person right and then they send you additional free gifts if you sign

02:09:09 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 2:

If you've never been to a dispensary before, they do not take credit cards. You learn that the hard way. No, they don't take them. You've got to pay with cash.

02:09:20 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 1:

Like if you're buying a lottery ticket.

02:09:22 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's illegal federally, so they don't want you putting it on your credit card. So they make you pay cash all the time. Sheila says, come to the casino. What casino should she go to, Sheila?

02:09:34 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she should probably go to NGMO, Joe.

02:09:36 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 2:

All right. So when we're down for Taylor the next couple of days?

02:09:41 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 5:

That's right.

02:09:42 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Megan.

02:09:43 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 5:

Let me tell you, I tried getting a room there this weekend. That place is sold out. But, yeah, maybe I'll go make poor decisions. You think that's a good idea? Absolutely. I'll go with you.

02:09:55 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Why don't you just put it in a slot? It's your $50 lucky money.

02:10:00 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 3:

in a slot and just see what kind of payout

02:10:01 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 1:

you have. What if I get into a new tax bracket with it?

02:10:05 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 3:

It's worth it.

02:10:07 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's worth it. Would you come back

02:10:10 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 3:

to work?

02:10:12 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 1:

With you guys?

02:10:16 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Jason, who denied you cash?

02:10:20 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 4:

No, I wasn't denied cash, but I'm from Toledo, and I was just kind of backing up Megan because there's not a lot of places that take bills over $20 around. Really?

02:10:30 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Everybody thinks I'm crazy. What is that about? Why?

02:10:34 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 4:

Maybe robbery. I don't know. Toledo's crazy. Yeah, what's going on in Toledo? Let's do a wellness check on Toledo.

02:10:39 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 1:

That's so weird to me.

02:10:41 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 4:

But, yeah, my son, he just sold me. Like, he just gave me a $100 bill so I can cash at him so he can go to the mall because a lot of places don't take big bills. That's interesting. Wow.

02:10:53 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you for making her look like she's right, and I hate that.

02:10:58 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 4:

Love you. Oh, Megan's always right. I love it. Yeah, it's me. Thank you.

02:11:06 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Mike experienced something over the weekend that we have to bring up that I think is hysterically funny. So, Mike, you went out and you were on the boat with your in-laws and you guys took the kids and stuff like that. And there's something that for some reason always seems to happen when you're on the boat.

02:11:25 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it's not. There was a few of us on the boat. And there's always a person who likes to, like, talk you into going tubing. Like, I like water sports, so I like to kneeboard, I like to ski, I like to, you know, all that stuff. But I don't like tubing. For some reason, I'll go tubing down a river. I don't like being pulled behind a boat on a tube because it is just, it's no fun. Like, it was fun as a kid, but now, like, I don't want to do it anymore. But there's always one guy, always, who is, like, dead set on, hey, let's go tubing. Let me pull you behind the tube. And then they question your manhood if you don't go tubing behind this boat. Like, oh, you're not going to do it? You're not going to go tubing? My kids go tubing all the time. You're not going to go tubing? I don't want to go tubing. It's the only sport, too, that I get really sore after. Everything else, I'm fine. But for some reason, tubing, I think it's just laying there, like, bouncing all around in the water. It's not fun.

02:12:17 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Why is that? You're right, though. Whenever you go out tubing with people and you don't want to tube, you just want to be like a spotter or just there enjoying the boat ride, Like, why is it that people have to try to force you to go tubing?

02:12:30 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then they're dead set on, like, it's like some weird thing where they want to whip you off of the tube. Like, I don't know who hurt you, but they want to whip you off of the tube and make you fall off. Like, that's their whole goal. Yeah. Maybe I did something wrong. I don't know, but.

02:12:43 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

The point of going out on a tube is to have fun with your family members, right? It's not to actually be in the ER that night.

02:12:51 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that person is always dead set on knocking you off that thing, like hurting somebody. Do you guys go tubing? You ever go tubing at all?

02:12:57 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 1:

I've only gone one time, and you guys know this. I am really, really scared of deep water. So I was obviously wearing a life jacket, and I was like, yeah, I did it one time. I'm good.

02:13:06 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 3:

I never could understand, like, you know, because I live right by Cass Lake, and so we'll tube on Cass Lake. And first off, I don't ever want to be the person that falls off a tube on Cass Lake, because I know that somebody's leg is going to, like, come popping up from underneath. There's probably bodies and stuff in there. I don't know. I always have this weird feeling in that place for some reason, you know? It's probably because it's close to Crystal Lake. Well, I – Jason Voorhees. But I will tell you this. When you go out on that lake and you're on that tube and there's boats whizzing by at all different places and the person that is driving the boat, you realize you wouldn't even drive in his, you know, GMC Denali with him, you know? Because he's that bad of a driver. And you're letting this son of a bitch Take you on a tube Mike who was driving

02:13:57 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to call them out Come on They know who they are

02:14:03 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 3:

Is that an important piece of the story though

02:14:05 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to call them out There was a few different people that were driving Come on Mike I think it's funny I know you think it's funny I saw the picture

02:14:14 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 3:

Go on on air Mike and you can actually go see Who it was that was driving

02:14:18 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 2:

They do that thing too where they turn a corner and they're trying to whip you around and they let the slack go. So much so that you go sideways and then they whip you back.

02:14:26 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that the person that was driving doesn't like you and that's why they were doing that? No, he does it to everybody. Really?

02:14:34 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 2:

It's not just me. That's what I'm telling you. He wouldn't do it to your kids though, right? No, he putts around.

02:14:39 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:14:39 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 2:

But like adult guys, he likes to do that.

02:14:41 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 3:

Why can't they drive on the boat like they do when you're with little children on the back? Like I want to go on with little children. I don't want to be. Yes. I think people like to see, like, grown people just, like, all over the place. What's up, Tim?

02:14:55 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you? Good.

02:14:57 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

02:14:58 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

So, I'm the captain of a...

02:15:00 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 2:

large private yacht and they want to tube behind it all the time so the whole thing to me is ridiculous we spent 500 just to get a rope to extend the line for the tubing line and then the kids and the parents are always like whip me off i'm like first of all i don't understand why you want to be whipped off but second of all you're behind a giant multi-million dollar private yacht that goes slow and it barely even turns fast and you want me to try to toss you how And that's their thing. They want to be tossed every single time.

02:15:29 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 5:

I have to tell you, if I'm on one of those beautiful boats like yours, those yachts that you have, I don't want to even get wet. I want to be on there, and I want to be seen. I want people to see me, you know? Yeah, where's the paparazzi? I have no interest in ever having them whip me around on that thing. That would scare the crap out of me that I'd get run over by the damn thing.

02:15:50 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

The worst part is the husbands will offer me tips to toss their wives to take a fast corner. The boat doesn't even do it.

02:15:58 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 5:

You have to wonder if this is their way of getting back at their spouse for doing something wrong or they're secretly trying to get you to kill their spouse so they can get the insurance money.

02:16:07 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 2:

One of the two, but I'd happily take their handful of money. I just can't talk to somebody behind the big boat.

02:16:12 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 5:

That's wild. What's going on, Mojo in the Morning Erica? Hi.

02:16:16 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 3:

My dad used to purposely try and throw us every time we went tubing. That was the fun part of it for us.

02:16:22 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 5:

What a special guy, huh?

02:16:25 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. It was fun. We would always just get out of the wake, and you take some a lot longer to get you to flip.

02:16:33 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 5:

Now, would you do that today, though?

02:16:37 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 3:

Probably not, just because I had back surgery.

02:16:40 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You know what this is like? This is like your dad driving in a car telling you to take your seatbelt off and slamming on the brakes. You know what I mean?

02:16:50 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, brake checking you.

02:16:51 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 5:

It's like, hey, take your seatbelt off, kid. Why, Dad? Just do it. Okay. You know? It's like, stay where? What is the point with that? All right. Speaking of that, you want to go to our daddy-daughter dance? We got to get some people in. We've been so Taylor Swift that we've been neglecting our dads. Daddy-daughter dance right now, Lydia. It is June the 23rd. Could we get Taylor Swift to make a special live appearance? Oh, sheesh. Yes. Sheila, if I was KP

02:17:27 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 1:

KP, you're so darn cute

02:17:28 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 5:

If I was KP, I'd never take that outfit off You should wear that thing all weekend long And just walk into random places To see if people think that you're Taylor Swift

02:17:35 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I would have put it past them I'm so tired, you guys I'm sitting on this chair pooped

02:17:40 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 5:

I bet you could, though If you walk in downtown Detroit this weekend It'd be better than that lying gosling scam That we did back in the day

02:17:48 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 3:

People would be funny It's just Ashley You could be her

02:17:52 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes, that's amazing

02:17:53 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I feel like some of the dads that were there today Thought I actually was Taylor Swift

02:17:58 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they don't know

02:17:58 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Actually, the kid that won was so young I would have just told them if I was the mom and I didn't win Yeah, you saw Taylor Swift

02:18:05 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, kid I tried to hug somebody that lost But she was not having it She was like, I know you're fake No, she didn't say that That's probably what she was thinking though

02:18:15 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 5:

Alright, so 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 If you're at least 21, June 23rd district 142 we are celebrating dads we're giving dads a great night out you bring your dad out party with the mojo in the morning show we have all kinds of great uh prizes that you're gonna have a chance to win dad will have a chance to win but honestly it's to honor dad father's day is uh the sunday before win this forum okay let me take a break we'll be right back uh with more

next huge egos i mean huge ratings in detroit grand rapids muskegan and toledo this is mojo

02:18:54 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 5:

in the morning all right it's mojo in the morning show can you say the d word on the i don't know i'm wondering that too i think if i talk in like technical terms but um no i don't know you know the d word that's the female sex toy that's what they know no and you know say with a j like jack

02:19:13 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

jill you know a jill so no i don't think we can well here here's the deal um it's the topic is called uh the the the big yellow d yep yeah so i'm on a text like group chain with a bunch of my girlfriends and we're all moms so we all all of our kids go to the same school so that is definitely you know a topic a hot topic of conversation and so yesterday one of the moms was looking for a pair of tennis shoes in a size five and a five five and a half for something that her daughter had after school last night and so she's like I don't want to go out and buy new shoes I don't have time do any of you ladies have any you know sneakers this size laying around your house well one of my girlfriends other girlfriends I won't say

02:20:00 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 4:

her name um did and she said oh i do i do i'll send you some pictures so she sends to the group a bunch of pictures of some shoes the size five five and a half shoes laying out on her bed but in the upper left hand corner of all of the photos is her big yellow And we roasted her all day Wow About it We were like Tell us more about your friend We by the way

02:20:34 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

We gotta have good calls on this topic Cause I'm telling you this will be the topic That we'll all remember If people are honest with us But that is the funniest When people take a picture Not realizing that they got a picture of.

02:20:49 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it was there. It was the star of the show.

02:20:52 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 2:

And you got to call us up and you got to tell us or text 95500. We'll even call you about that. But what was in the picture? I love when I see people do mirror selfies or people that take pictures in their sunglasses, Joe, whatever it is. Oh, my God.

02:21:06 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 3:

See, the pro tip is when someone sends you a picture, sometimes they take live pictures. So if you hold the button down, you can kind of hear what's happening in the background. I'm doing that a thousand percent of the time

02:21:17 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 2:

And a lot of times you'll actually hear how dirty they are Because the thing in the background might be something dirty

02:21:22 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah and they don't realize that they're taking a live picture Before they send it I don't remember who it was

02:21:28 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 1:

But somebody on the show sent a picture from the bathroom And it was supposed to be like a funny post for Instagram or something And they had that live thing on it So they took the picture And then the phone went down And you're like ah

02:21:39 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

So a yellow one of all things.

02:21:45 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 4:

Yellow, and it was, I can't describe it because obviously we can't do that on the air, but it was very different than any other one that the majority of us had seen, so we all had questions.

02:21:55 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 5:

Lots of questions. Does it look like an animal? What? No. Okay, never mind. No. Interesting. There's like a very popular thing that deals with the sea creature, and I was wondering if it was like, The fact that it was on the bed though

02:22:18 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 3:

This is like was she getting ready Or was she just wrapped up

02:22:21 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 5:

Maybe she just cleaned it Maybe it was time to go back

02:22:24 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 2:

Is it the person That you would have thought might have had one Oh yes

02:22:29 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 4:

And we love you Good for her

02:22:35 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 2:

We got some good texts But come on we want to hear your story I got like seven of them And I don't want to read the one that's here But there's a couple of them that are really good Including somebody that sent the picture to their boss So that person That sent the picture to their boss You gotta do us a favor And you gotta make sure you pick up your phone line They're 419

02:22:56 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 3:

That person can never call in sick It's like are you sure

02:22:59 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 2:

Are you sure you're not Well wait till you hear the thing that they actually had In the background That was from their boss Alright It's Mojo in the morning more Taylor Swift tickets coming up here in just a little bit. Let me give you just some more details about this. Grab some phones and I'll grab the phones before the end of the show. Lydia.

02:23:21 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 1:

This is a big

02:23:25 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 2:

story here today because it's getting even worse and now it's actually causing more issues because it's canceling sporting events, Broadway plays,

02:23:38 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 4:

even flights,

02:23:39 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

Even flights, yes. Flights grounded in cities like New York, Philadelphia, possibly coming our way, too. I don't know how thick it will be coming through here, but it's definitely affected us. I mean, the air is not great. We're talking about the wildfires that were in Canada are causing for, like, New York City to look like it was orange yesterday, which was crazy. This is from ABC's Good Morning America. Hold on a second here. Push the button. Why is that not going? Go. Go. To live radio, people. Oh, my God.

02:24:14 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Maybe Megan will have to give us her newscaster voice. Yeah. Now he's taking the batteries out.

02:24:20 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 2:

No. I don't know.

02:24:21 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

This is that what old people do thing.

02:24:23 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is? Blow on him.

02:24:24 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

He's about to blow on it like a Nintendo. What's going on over there? I can't get it. Slam it again. I don't know.

02:24:28 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 2:

I can't get the damn thing to fire. It just a second ago worked. But hold on a second. Let's see if it worked.

02:24:34 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 4:

Do you call it the remote control or the clicker? Like my grandma did.

02:24:37 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I hope it's clicker.

02:24:39 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 5:

I call it the... Clicker. Oh, my God. He's two dudes from the TV.

02:24:45 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

So let me read the story then to you since I was going to have him read it for you. So here's what's going on. The Canadian wildfires have created respiratory hazards for most people on the East Coast all the way through Southeast.

02:25:00 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 3:

east Michigan, and Ohio, and southwest Ohio, listen to this. They're saying that yesterday's New York City ozone layer was the worst in the world. It actually was worse than what was in India, which is typically where they say some of the worst air is. How long will this affect all of us? They're saying through the weekend, possibly, the east coast hopefully will not have it much.

02:25:28 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 2:

This morning, the surreal images of major cities blanketed by wildfire smoke pouring in from the north. New York City turning into an orange dystopia. The George Washington Bridge piercing through that ominous plume. And this time lapse from Earth Cam capturing the city skyline as it turns apocalyptic in just two hours. That orange haze thick enough to swallow skyscrapers from New York to Philadelphia and D.C. It smelled like a tire was like a burning tire. the Carolinas and Ohio, and the smoke even seen from space. Dangerous air quality alerts now in effect for more than 100 million Americans in at least 20 states. I've been coughing a lot. With New York City registering the worst air quality in the world.

02:26:13 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 1:

This is what my view of Manhattan looks like from Jersey City on a normal, beautiful, sunny day compared to today.

02:26:20 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 2:

On the air quality index scaled from 1 to 500, where above 150 is considered unhealthy, the mayor said New York City hit 484. Shanghai, China was around 125. Staying indoors is key. It definitely reduces your exposure. You keep windows closed. Overnight, professional baseball games in New York and Philadelphia postponed, along with a WNBA game in Brooklyn. With toxic particulates filling the air, experts say breathing it in for a day is comparable to smoking half a pack of cigarettes or more. The more exposure folks have, the more likely it is that they'll be sick. Many people once again now reaching for the masks they wore through the pandemic. People need to prepare for this over the long haul. And it all stems from what's shaping up to be a record-setting fire season in Canada. More than 6 million acres burnt and more than 11,000 people now forced to evacuate from remote parts of Quebec. Thousands more expected in the coming days. In Nova Scotia, scorched debris littering the ground and more than half of the country's hundreds of remaining fires are still out of control.

02:27:29 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that nuts? I mean, it's just absolutely crazy. The Tigers game against the Phillies was canceled yesterday. They're saying they're going to try to play today. I don't know how they can because it's still so bad.

02:27:39 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 4:

I'm mad at that reporter for losing their chance. What?

02:27:43 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Two. We didn't start the fire or what?

02:27:45 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 4:

No. Americans wondering how much longer this is going to last. Aboot, four more days. Aboot, four more days. There you go.

02:27:54 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Bam. Bam.

02:27:57 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

02:27:58 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:27:59 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 4:

If we're going to make bad puns, make Canadian bad puns. There you go. Equality.

02:28:04 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, goodness.

02:28:05 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 4:

I like that.

02:28:06 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 3:

Another big trending story today is that Taylor Swift has caused for Taylor traffic issues in downtown Detroit. Parking, they're saying, is going to be a mess over Friday and Saturday. But they're saying that even today it's really bad because here's the issue. The issue is everybody's going downtown early to try to see if they can get merch. So there's a lot of people doing that.

02:28:30 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 4:

Until tomorrow at 10 a.m. I don't think that's true. Oh, that's what all the news stations are saying. 10 a.m. And they said if you start lining up before 8 a.m., they'll make you move. Merch opens up at 4 today.

02:28:42 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

4 o'clock today?

02:28:43 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 4:

What the heck?

02:28:44 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:28:44 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 4:

I literally just read it on. I'm not going to say which news site now.

02:28:48 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 3:

Well, guess what? Say it because they're the ones that screwed that one up. But they're also saying that the parking lot people are charging huge amounts, but will be monitored by the state's attorney general because if the amounts go to a point where it gets so excessive, it could actually be against Michigan law, which started years ago back when the Super Bowl was coming to town.

02:29:11 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 4:

So I went on Park Whiz yesterday because I wanted to make sure that I had parking for our broadcast that we're doing tomorrow and Saturday. Some of the lots near and around Ford Field are going for $200. Okay, so here's my question then. What is Ubering like after an event?

02:29:29 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be brutal. There's no way. I would never do that. I wouldn't trust it.

02:29:33 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:29:35 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the Ford Field early merch day is today, gate B, and it goes on now through 6 p.m. So, yeah. Parking lot four and five are like $8 a piece. Tiger's garage is $9, and that's only for today, not for tomorrow. Those are going to be going up. Did you hear the story about the woman who was bothered by pot smoke smell from a neighbor

02:30:00 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 4:

neighbor, sued the neighbor, and actually won. After a three-year legal battle, a Washington, D.C. judge banned the man from smoking medical marijuana in his home after his neighbor filed the lawsuit saying that the smell drifted into her home. The judge ruled that although the neighbor has a license to purchase medical marijuana, he does not possess a license to disrupt the enjoyment of a person living in the home and said that he cannot smoke into the house. That obviously is going to go to appeal. And there are two cancer pills that are supposedly boosting survival rates and preventing reoccurrence. So these new pills right now, they say are doing unprecedented results. And many people are really excited about this. obviously we all are, they're saying that lung cancer patients are taking one particular pill that's too hard for me to pronounce, taking the pill once a day, shown a reduced risk of death by more than 50%. The breast cancer pill, another one of those ones, which why do they not just call it breast cancer pill? Significantly increased survival rates and preventative reoccurrence in separate studies so positive news coming out uh today those are just your trending stories really quick jackie what's going on it's mojo in the morning how are you good good how are you doing good uh there's nothing more embarrassing than taking a picture sending it to people and then

02:32:19 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 4:

One of my favorite texts that came into us On this topic was the person who said That they were texting their boss A picture and they accidentally text Their big bong in the background That was in there And then another person You could see that they were just Recently having sex She was taking a picture that she wanted To send to a family member and the family member did the live video only to see their spouse in bed finishing them. Oh, gosh. Yeah. So, by the way, I will never look at a live video ever again if that's what I'm seeing in the end. All right. That does it for today. Great job on all our Taylor Swift contests.
