You excited for the big concert? Night number one? So excited I have heard that in her past shows And I hate to do this to people But I've heard that night number twos and night number threes, where she's had them, were the better of the shows. I've heard that, too.

00:04:30 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? I have heard that. Maybe she just has to get used to the city, the crowd feel of the venue.

00:04:35 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 6:

And I think for some reason, there's always, like, the better, like, special guests. Yes, for sure. But it's night number one. You spent a lot of money for those tickets. So let's get this thing going, okay? We got to play some throwbacks. Amanda, I'm going to let you start it off. What are we doing? What are we playing today? Can we shake it off before I shake it off? I think so. Absolutely. We're shaking it off. Here you go. Happy Taylor.

00:10:00 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 1:

This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. Yeah! I'm worried. I'm worried. I'm worried that one day we're going to do that thing, and we're all going to pop a blood vessel. Yeah. It's going to happen. And when that happens, we're in trouble.

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but don't say that we don't commit.

00:10:30 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 1:

happy friday guys this is unbelievable first off it's taylor swift weekend we're excited about that the big super bowl as tony travato called it he said this is our super bowl you know what it is and we've got tickets by the way we're going to give you a chance to win tickets who would have thought by the way that this uh show would be here as fast as it was and then everybody's still crazed for tickets and then i come in today and i see everybody here i get surprised by getting uh to see mike come all the way from grand rapids and he brought cecily with and i was so excited to see cecily and i thought oh it's cool it's taylor swift you guys are going to the concert and then megan comes in from toledo it was unbelievable shannon drove in from birmingham And you won't believe how far I drove today. I mean, thank you. God. But it is also, it's Taylor, and then I thought for sure, and now, can I tell you why I'm really unhappy with you guys? What? Because you guys, I got birthday stuff here and all this stuff. You know why I'm unhappy? Hmm. Because Mike's now going to complain of the fact that my birthday is not until Sunday. Oh, I didn't even think about that. And we're off, and I thought, this is perfect. I get no birthday celebration, so then I can go, Mike, I didn't get a birthday celebration this year. Oh, and I'm here for it. And you're here. And I get to witness it. Oh, this is great. This is my childhood. Now, just so you know, for your birthday in February. 21st. We will, which is also President's Day, right? It's the day that everybody gets a day off. We are all working on February 21st. No, don't do that. Don't make everybody work. I'll wait a week. Actually, I think it might be a Sunday. Hold on a second. It's also the birthday of the Mojo in the Morning Show, which I didn't know until I said. Yes, exactly. The show debuted back in 2000 of that year. But how excited are we for this? How excited are we for the weekend? And we get to broadcast from the show. We're going to be on, if you want to check out the iHeartRadio app, if you're anywhere around the world or Grand Rapids, Toledo, we'll be on Channel 955 live tonight from 5 till 7. I told our boss, I'm like, I don't know how good it's going to be. And then our boss said to me, he goes, don't worry, you should see the place that they put us for this thing.

00:12:50 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I've heard. Yeah.

00:12:52 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 1:

Tony Travato told me that the great people from Ford Field, the kind, kind souls there, every time we ever do any kind of concert broadcast or anything fun there, they always end up putting us the radio show that, and not just us, it's all the radio shows. So, God love everybody at Cumulus and Odyssey and all their other stations. But they put us, like, on the street that they actually bring the equipment for the artist in. Like, it's literally nobody walks down that street because they're afraid if they walk down that street, they're going to get yelled at for walking down that street. But that's where they put us. And then Tony actually holds. It's me.

00:13:34 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Tater goes on stage in hours. We're live by the porta-potties outside for a field. We really are.

00:13:39 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 2:

I think we're in between a merch truck and the port-a-potty.

00:13:45 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:13:45 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Which, by the way, those merch trucks opened up yesterday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. They sold out by what time, Lydia? 11.45? Yeah, they had to be sold out, but they restocked. They restocked. They restocked, but yeah, if you want to get merch, get your merch.

00:14:01 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 3:

But they don't let you line up super early like they did in other cities. So if you're trying to come out now, don't. Right.

00:14:07 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 2:

They don't do it. They'll shoo you away.

00:14:09 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny is I'm one of those people that go by All the merch at concerts And I look at it and I go Oh god I'd love to have a concert tee Because it always looks like it's good But they never have the one that I want Like yeah You know and honestly Me wearing a Taylor Swift concert tee Would be very funny Is this from the merch tee? Is that it?

00:14:31 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah this is one of those Who went and got it? Lydia's friend got one for me for Lucy Oh So she could wear it to the show There's no way she's going to be able to stand in line Don't wash it. Wasn't that cute?

00:14:41 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 1:

Was it $1,000?

00:14:42 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't crazy.

00:14:45 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 1:

Why not wash it?

00:14:46 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

There was that big scandal on TikTok that people were washing their merch and all of it was just coming off of the shirt. Seriously? Truly be really, really careful. You're going to have to hand wash it. Only because I don't want it to get ruined for you.

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Or wash it.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 3:

And then hang dry it or don't dry it? Yeah, don't dry it.

00:15:03 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hang dry it.

00:15:04 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, listen, I do that with every one of my shirts. Otherwise, I can't fit the man teats in them.

00:15:10 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 5:

I think we all know how expensive merch is. I mean, I don't want to tell you how much I spent on my Harry Styles poster. Oh, that wasn't bad. That's not bad. But I'd be pretty pissed if I spent a pretty penny on something and wore it once.

00:15:22 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

That would be bad. Hi, Chad. What's happening?

00:15:25 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 2:

Not much. Just sitting here at work listening to you guys every day.

00:15:28 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we appreciate that so much. Happy Friday, man. We hope we get you into this weekend and have some fun. Oh, sure will. Thanks for calling, buddy. I appreciate you for doing that. Did you like the start of the show? Did you like the music and all the throwbacks and things?

00:15:44 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 2:

When you guys did the startup song today, when Kevin did his part, I actually got goosebumps. Did you really? Come on. Yeah, I did. No lie.

00:15:53 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. You got goosebumps, and I got a migraine. Actually, I will tell you, it is very, it is like, I'm like, whoo, I'm like awake. It's Friday, man. We got to get the vibes right. What's up, Heather? Hey, Mojo, I just want to tell you happy early birthday. Oh, thank you so much. Happy birthday to all my Gemini friends. Vince Lucido, happy birthday to him today.

00:16:15 - 00:16:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, happy birthday, Vince.

00:16:16 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 3:

And then Angel Tedesco, the queen of sales. We love her tomorrow. So, the hugger. Yes, the hugger.

00:16:23 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 5:

Happy birthday, Angel.

00:16:24 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

We got our Gemini trifecta, so I appreciate you so much, Heather. Have a great weekend.

00:16:31 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, you too.

00:16:32 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 3:

All right, chance to win pink tickets now.

00:16:34 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 2:

00:16:42 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 3:

This was the year that Ariana Grande married real estate agent Dalton Gomez. I do not remember this.

00:16:49 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 1:

Pop star Ariana Grande is a married woman. The 27-year-old. She's married to him? Yeah. Why did I not know that? Remember she had that really cool wedding

00:16:58 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 5:

during COVID and took photos on a film camera and posted it to her Instagram?

00:17:01 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 3:

I thought she hasn't dated since Pete Davidson.

00:17:04 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 5:

I want to say she had a Vera Wang dress. I was obsessed with this wedding. It was in her living room. It was Vera Wang.

00:17:09 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 3:

Olivia Rodrigo released her first album.

00:17:13 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 6:

I had to write it for me. I had to get it out. I think you'd feel sick if you kept all of that in.

00:17:17 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Remember, every song was Olivia Rodrigo? And the big song was Ed Sheeran. Isn't that how you pronounce it? What year was it for Pink Tickets?

00:17:33 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 4:

You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year that stuff happened.

00:17:38 - 00:17:40 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:17:41 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We give you clues. You tell us the year. We give you cool prizes.

00:17:47 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

All right, this was the year that Ariana Grande married real estate agent Dalton Gomez.

00:17:52 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Top star Ariana Grande is a married woman, the 27-year-old tying the knot with luxury real estate agent fiancé Dalton Gomez over the weekend.

00:18:02 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 3:

We all remember Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia Rodrigo released her debut music in this year.

00:18:08 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 6:

I just think there was no other option for me. I had to write it. I had to write it for me. I had to, like, get it out. I think you'd like feel sick if you like kept all of that in but you know really at the core of it

00:18:17 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 3:

00:19:17 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 5:

We are going to do the Dirty, and we do have two for Taylor coming, so keep listening. If you hear a Taylor Swift song back-to-back with another Taylor Swift song, on that second song, that's going to make you a winner.

00:19:39 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

I love it so much Yeah, don't mess up

00:19:52 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 2:

I'll try it just for you

00:19:56 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Raquel Levis is still

00:20:00 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 2:

receiving treatment in a mental health facility 68 days exactly after the taping of the Vanderpump Rules reunion. She's obviously been receiving some pretty severe backlash since her affair with Tom Sandoval. This Sandoval was revealed back in March while he was still dating his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Maddox. Raquel first checked into this facility in April. It's an inpatient behavioral health and trauma facility and she remains there again 68 days and counting. A friend of hers is telling me her treatment is really helping her dig into the basis of her decisions and grow from her mistakes with the hope of making better choices and becoming a better person. And that same girl also telling me that Raquel is very much looking forward to sharing her story with the unfiltered truth of what actually happened when she comes out. By the way, Raquel's fellow VPR star Lala

00:20:52 - 00:21:39 | Speaker 4:

Kent said she kind of feels sorry for her now. After watching last night when she finally had the breakdown just as a human it was like if this is for me it's like it's a reality tv show i feel like we're all kind of playing the same game yeah when i watched that i was like oh we may be dealing with someone who maybe shouldn't be on this kind of platform you have to know that when you're on a show like this make bad decisions these are the things that kind of happen especially when you're throwing daggers at people while you're doing something like that you're gonna get the smoke, but she definitely, I don't know how other people feel about the last five minutes, but I did sit there and go, oh, she needs some real help, but she got it.

00:21:40 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 2:

Singer, actress, and local girl, Jana Kramer, going to be a mama of three. She's expecting her first child with her fiance, Alan Russell, and nobody was shocked here because she just announced her engagement to this guy a couple of weeks ago, and everybody was speculating The quick engagement, I think they'd only been dating for like five or six months, was because she was probably pregnant and she was hiding her belly in all of her photos on Instagram, too. Jana already has two kids, her daughter, Jolie, and her son, Jace, with her ex-husband, while Alan has a son from a previous relationship.

00:22:09 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 3:

I always feel bummed out when people are pregnant and they announce it early and be like, that's the only reason. No, that's not the only reason.

00:22:16 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 2:

She's happy. Right. Hopefully she's happy. Breaking Bad star Brian Cranston has a plan for his Hollywood career to take a hiatus in 2026 so he can spend more time with his wife, Robin. He told GQ UK that he's going to take at least six months off from Hollywood and move to France. He says for the last 24 years, Robin has led her life holding on to his tale. And he said, you know, she's been the plus one. She's the wife of a celebrity. She's had to pivot and adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefit from it, but we're uneven. And he said, I want to level that out because she deserves it. I love him. He said, they're going to live in a small village in France, learn how to speak French, and they're going to learn how to cook French cuisine. I mean, that's dreamy. I love that. And lastly, the Supreme Court has sided with Jack Daniels in a dispute with VIP products. They're a company that was selling poop-themed dog chew toys that mimicked the Jack Daniels bottles. We talked about this a couple of weeks ago. What was it called?

00:23:22 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 1:

Something Spaniel?

00:23:23 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, Bad Spaniels was the line of products. And the toys mimic a Jack Daniels whiskey bottle but with a poop theme. So, like, while the whiskey bottles say old number seven, the dog toy says old number two. And instead of Tennessee sour mash whiskey, the chew toy says on your Tennessee carpet. It was so obvious That that's where they sold it Yeah but it's parody isn't it It's parody and the head of VIP Products said that they said You know we wanted to create a parody product That was tongue in cheek we wanted to make people laugh But Jack Daniels did not think of the money So the Supreme Court said the lower Courts must now consider Whether the products these dog Toys invoking Jack Daniels and his whiskey bottle Were going to cause confusion for Consumers and They sided with Jack Daniels It's so stupid

00:24:15 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 3:

How can you confuse a dog toy With an alcohol bottle

00:24:19 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to change my name to Kevin Sticks And I'm going to go on and I'm going to host a radio Show from Toledo Ohio I'm going to steal your logo Here's the deal You can't just blatantly steal Their idea And not give them a little bit of money

00:24:39 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 2:

But you can because of parody. Isn't that how weird Al Yankovic gets around a lot of stuff?

00:24:44 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and there's that fake Starbucks where they're making fun of Starbucks, but it's a coffee shop, and they won their cork case. Really? Yeah.

00:30:56 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 4:

00:31:02 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 1:

I can't wait. It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55.

00:31:06 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. So, Shannon, and this is the thing that we've got to be really careful about when we bring this up because I don't want Lucy to know because she doesn't have any idea yet, right? Or no?

00:31:17 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 5:

No, she doesn't have any idea.

00:31:19 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 4:

Okay. The topic is, what did the dog eat or the dog ruin the day? Yeah.

00:31:26 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 5:

So, Lucy is going to see Taylor Swift tomorrow night with a bunch of her girlfriends. And it's this thing that if you're going to the show, you're making loads and loads of friendship bracelets so that you can wear them and trade them. Lydia's fingers have been bleeding because she's been making so many friendship bracelets. Okay, true story. And so my kitchen counter is covered in friendship bracelets. My table is covered in friendship bracelets. Well, the other night, she was doing a bunch of them on the living room floor as she was watching TV. And so she has this, like, rubber-made container with all of her stuff in it, her string and her beads and her, like, embroidery floss, you know, all of her little things. So she left a couple of things on the floor, came into the kitchen to eat dinner, and Wes's dog, Willow, who is a very cute but crazy French bulldog, ate a bunch of the bracelets. And he came in and whispered it to me And I was like oh god oh god oh god oh god So I cleaned everything up For Lucy so that she didn't You know she wasn't gonna see it And I've been like feverishly making The same bracelets and replacing Them because I don't want her to not like Wes's Dog like ask me to like merge families Right that was Tuesday Night so I saw Wes Last night at his daughter's eighth grade graduation And he's like Willow's been pooping colored feeds For two days She ate the Taylor Swift bracelet

00:32:57 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 3:

So do you take those beads now And wash them No

00:33:00 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 5:

It goes right in the garbage

00:33:06 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 4:

844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 Is telephone number What did the dog eat I have to tell you a story about Taylor This was actually one of the ones That somebody sent to us On a press release Did you know that I think it was Michael's or one of those stores, said that they ran out of beads for bracelets because the Taylor Swift concert.

00:33:27 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:33:27 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they said that they were having to try to replenish because so many people were making the bracelets. It's so cute. What's the, because I'm a dude and I don't know this stuff, what's the tie-in of that with Taylor Swift, though?

00:33:40 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 6:

I don't think there's a tie-in. This was a big thing in EDM culture. Like, it's a pretty common thing for you to swap bracelets and necklaces and stuff like that. There's even like a handshake that you do It's like peace, love, equality, and unity or whatever And then you swap the bracelets on each other So I think it was kind of like Borrowed from that culture And then just turned into Taylor Swift's theme I love it, I think it's a great idea

00:34:03 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 5:

I love it as long as I don't have a daughter And have to make them They say like the name of each era She did some song ones

00:34:10 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 3:

What do you got Mike, is that from Cecily? Cecily, actually Lydia too, I didn't know she'd been making so many She had helped her, so I have a dad bracelet That I have to make So nice. Willow, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:34:21 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. So I made 95 bracelets for my show tomorrow. Wow. And Shannon, you just reminded me to pack them because I'm leaving straight from work today. And I got in my car and heard you guys on the radio talking about it. And I realized I didn't have them. Oh, yeah.

00:34:39 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 5:

And don't forget about the bag policy for Ford Field, too. Yeah. Okay? So make sure to read up on that. It's got to be clear. Or very, very, very, very teeny tiny.

00:34:47 - 00:34:52 | Speaker 4:

So here's the other thing, too. Don't forget to hide it from your dog. Nikki, what did your dog eat?

00:34:54 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

My little four-pound Yorkie got on the table and ate an entire stick of butter.

00:35:00 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah then she pooped for like two days it looked like a nice little wendy's uh you know

00:35:09 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 2:

frosty come on come on now i'll never be able to have a wendy's frosty ever again or at least like a week yeah uh britney what's going on it's mojo in the morning hey so i had my stepdaughter

00:35:23 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 5:

living with us and she had cleaned out one of those thc vape pens and some of them have like little filters in them and he threw it in the trash and my dog got into the garbage and we're all sitting there and all of a sudden my dog just starts falling over and like smacking her his face off the ground and i'm like oh my god he looks so messed up so we're like panicking we find that he throws it up we find it on the ground dude the dog was so high like circles around the house and then it would stop and look at everyone and just fall over so i had to rush him to emergency and they had to like charcoal treat him they had to pump oh yeah put him on an IV because like a lot of people don't know this but dogs cannot have THC yeah only have

00:36:07 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 2:

CBD it is very very dangerous we had that happen to us we thought our dog Henry was having a stroke and so yeah it was sad and we were freaking out because we always make fun about Henry being you know so goofy and it's like he's such a pain in the ass but that's when you know you love him when You think that they're dying. We brought him in.

00:36:29 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Winston's totally like brain dead or something.

00:36:30 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 2:

We brought him into the vet, and when we brought him into the vet, the vet took him in the back for about five minutes, comes out and goes, do you have weed at your house? Which, of course, Chelsea and I are like, no. And they go, well, we think that Henry might have gotten into it. And I said, what do you mean? They put him into a room, turned the lights off, and then had, like, mirror balls going. But they turned the lights off, and when he turned the lights off, he became normal really isn't that wild it was the sensation of stuff and that was and they said you got to be really careful but megan uh the listener on the phone not you megan uh what did

00:37:07 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 3:

your dog eat so it wasn't my dog it was i used to work at a doggie daycare and this dog cooked out a thong and so the wife came to our obviously business and they're like that's not my thong And it turned out that he was cheating on his wife. Come on. And I never saw them again. Come on. That is a crazy story.

00:37:33 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 2:

That may be one of the stories that I'm sitting there thinking to myself, is this like an urban legend or is this actually truth?

00:37:42 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 3:

It is true.

00:37:43 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:37:44 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 3:

100% true. Yeah. Unfortunately, I don't work there anymore because, you know, need more money, but it was pretty awesome.

00:37:51 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So, did you get to figure out what happened to that couple? Like, did they ever come back in or just one of them come back in?

00:37:57 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

No. None of them. The husband came in a couple of times, but then he stopped. So, we never saw the dog again, which is sad.

00:38:06 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 2:

I bet. Wow. That's unbelievable. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:38:10 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 3:

No problem. You have a good day.

00:38:11 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 2:

All right. Take care of yourself. Hold on a second. Real quick. Put the flip-flop person on hold.

00:38:17 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I think that's fine. Hey, Mojo.

00:38:19 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 2:

I think right there. No, I got it right here. Hold on. I'm not saying there. Hold on. Was it? Or no, it's gone. Jeez. Yeah.

00:38:25 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm on Fourfield's website right now.

00:38:27 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:38:27 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 1:

It says, pertaining to friendship bracelets, we will only permit friendship bracelets that are worn on event day.

00:38:34 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's good to know. Thank you. That's good to know. Great info.

00:38:38 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so they-

00:38:39 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 3:

So wear them all in. Wear all the ones that you want to trade.

00:38:42 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 1:

Don't think that you're going to walk into Fourfield with a bag of bracelets. They say they will only permit friendship bracelets that are worn on event day.

00:38:49 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 3:

Some stadiums let you bring in, like, a Ziploc bag of them. Good info.

00:38:53 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what's the reason why they only do the worn ones? Are they worried that people are going to be...

00:38:59 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 1:

They probably just don't want additional bags. Yeah, the second part of the sentence says, there is no limit to the quantity as long as they are worn and do not disrupt our inspection process. Really? So it's probably slowing down the lines of people trying to get in. So wear your bracelets.

00:39:12 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 2:

So you have to have them in your arm. What if your bracelets, though, make that thing beep? I know they shouldn't, but, well, you never know sometimes, right? They wand you and stuff. Then you've got to take all your stuff off. Can you fit it all in that little circular bowl that they give you that they tell you to put it in there? Oh, my God. By the way, if I go to Ford Field and have to stand behind some kid that's got, like, 8,000 of these bracelets that has to take them off their arms, I don't know. What's going on? What's going on, Sarah? How are you?

00:39:46 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, everyone. How are you?

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 2:

Good. Are you the flip-flop lady?

00:39:50 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm the flip-flop one. I thought you were switching topics. I was like, ah, they're done.

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I almost switched topics, and then as I hit the deep voice guy sweeper, I saw that up there.

00:40:00 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, oh, my God, we got to get this one on. One last call, one last call right now for the, my dog ate, because Shannon's fiance's dog ate all of Lucy's friendship bracelets for the Taylor show.

00:40:14 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so you all know the Old Navy, like, dollar flip-flops, like the foam. Oh, yeah. Okay, so I'm a huge fan of those. And when I was pregnant, I just would use them kind of around the house. So, anyways, I came downstairs to find just one piece of one flip-flop and couldn't find anything. And they were, like, neon green, because why not? And then, naturally, my yellow lab ate the rest of them.

00:40:50 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, now tell the best part of the whole story, though.

00:40:53 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, he pooped neon green, old navy, flip-flop.

00:41:00 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 4:

Like the entire thing right out his little butthole?

00:41:04 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 5:

I mean, there were, like, big pieces. Some were small. At one point, like, the plastic, you know, part on top. I don't know how he did it.

00:41:12 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 4:

This is when you love your dog so much where you have to actually go and try to get the tail, basically, right out, you know?

00:41:23 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank God he was a trooper and was able to push it all out himself because I don't think there was any chance I was going to be pulling anything out of that dog.

00:41:33 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I've said this often. You love your children when you have to actually do things like that. Have you ever had to do that with your babies and stuff?

00:41:42 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Before I had a child, I was like, I'm never digging a booger out of a kid's nose. I love picket boogers. Now I'm just digging for gold. What's wrong with that?

00:41:51 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 4:

Live it. Live with it. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon, with the Dirty on the 30, what's trending in the 7 o'clock hour, Shannon?

00:41:59 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 6:

Well, big, big story today. Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on federal charges. Yes, again, he is listed in the indictment as a criminal defendant charged with at least seven counts involving obstruction of justice, conspiracy, illegal retention of classified government material. He has been ordered to appear in federal court in Miami on Tuesday afternoon. This is from his social media platform, Truth Social. I just want to tell you, I'm an

00:42:25 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 2:

innocent man. I did nothing wrong. We will prove that very, very soundly and hopefully very quickly.

00:42:32 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 6:

He is facing up to 100 years in prison if convicted on all seven charges. This is the Second time Trump has been indicted this year. Remember, he pleaded not guilty back in April after being charged by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg on 34 felony accounts of falsifying business records in the first degree. This is Trump's attorney, Jim Trustee.

00:42:53 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Which is ludicrous under the facts of this case, and I can certainly explain it. And several obstruction-based type charges and then false statement charges, which are actually, again, kind of a crazy stretch just from the facts as we know it.

00:43:07 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we'll have more on this in next hours. dirty. Goes from the, this is the Mar-a-Lago thing. I say it like he does. Mar-a-Lago.

00:43:14 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 6:

All those boxes of documents

00:43:16 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 2:

that they found. Shannon, is there a point to this story? What did Wes do this time?

00:43:25 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 6:

Shawn Mendes being dragged by fans for using a photo of a smoke-covered New York City to promote his newest single. So yesterday, he posts a photo of the Manhattan skyline, which, you know, I mean, you've seen photos and videos it's like nearly invisible right now because of the smoke and the haze from those raging canadian wildfires and over the photo and like in between the buildings he wrote the words what the hell are we dying for which i assume is the name of his new single so people were like wait a second people are dying and wildfires and getting really sick by the poor air quality and you decided to make it your aesthetic uh another wrote why are you trying to profit off a national disaster or a natural disaster another said he used the unhealthy air quality photos from literally yesterday as an album cover oh he's lost his damn mind

00:44:13 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 4:

bravo's Andy Cohen by the way poor guy the guy first off the guy was supposed to be like it he was supposed to be Ed Sheeran you know before Ed Sheeran was Ed Sheeran and the poor guy has like been doing everything from faking he's got a girlfriend in Camila Cabello to doing stupid social media. Hey, he played Lyle the Crocodile, okay? I heard that movie was good. Cecily loves it. It's interesting about this guy, this Shawn Mendez guy. I really thought that Shawn Mendez was going to be, like,

00:44:46 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 6:

bigger than Ed Sheeran. Well, maybe his new single What the Hell Are We Dying For is going to do it for him. Andy Cohen was on his social media, by the way, talking about the

00:44:56 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

smoke. This is like the end of the

00:45:00 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 3:

world walking around here with all this smoke look you can't even see midtown back there oh my god

00:45:00 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:45:06 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 4:

do we believe this kim kardashian said she'd probably be working at macy's if she wasn't famous yes she said she sometimes wonders what life would be like if she didn't take you know the road that she did or the journey that she did in a conversation that she had with scott Disick last night on the Kardashians, but she said, yeah, I think I'd be doing retail.

00:45:30 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 5:

I don't think she'd be at Macy's. I think she'd be at Nordstrom because she was a stylist.

00:45:35 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 4:

Or Saks, like in the contemporary department, whatever they call it.

00:45:39 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, those beautiful makeup people at those places, you know, like you walk through that makeup. I honestly have no idea what makeup Chelsea wears, nor does she want me to know what kind of makeup she wears. But I walk through those places, and I see these gorgeous women that are selling this stuff. And all I want to do is just stop and buy something. I do. They're so gorgeous. They're all in our mall here in the area. I think they're all like beautiful Chaldean or Albanian women. They are. They're gorgeous. They are, yeah.

00:46:09 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Pink performing at the University of Bolton Stadium in England this week, surprising the audience with a performance of Cover Me in Sunshine with her 12-year-old daughter Willow singing the song. Listen to this. you remember mom and daughter released this song back in 2021 like at the height of covid and it was just so sweet do you know her daughter works on the tour does she yeah what does she do she

00:46:40 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 5:

ticket taker no i forget what it was but i saw this really interesting interview where pink was talking about how she undervalued herself and she said no go back and ask for a different contract and a different hourly rate because you're worth more. And it was, like, super sweet. I love that.

00:46:55 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to all the mamas bringing their babies on tour. You got Blue Ivy doing choreo.

00:47:00 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 5:

She's killing it. She is killing it.

00:47:02 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. How about the daddies? Mike brought Cecily in today.

00:47:06 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 5:

That's true. Go Mike. Go Mike. Go Mike.

00:47:09 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 3:

She's Mike's twin Yeah You can say hi honey Cecily, what's happening? Did we give you a job to do today? Do you have any tasks that We put you to work with?

00:47:48 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, I just made a finished braces for my dad, and right now I'm working on one for me.

00:47:54 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Do you want to have a job here? Do you want to do promotions?

00:47:58 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 1:

No, I think I'll just stick with art. Good for you. I tried to

00:48:06 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 6:

carry a bag in for her this morning, but she had it on her arms. What did you tell me when I tried to grab your bag?

00:48:10 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm a strong woman. Yeah!

00:48:13 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 6:

I don't need to help. That's my future president right there. That's right. I love you.

00:48:19 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on TheDirtyOnTheMorning.com.

00:48:23 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the Dirty. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Kev, we've talked before about what kind of a guy you are. Kev's the new guy to the show. And we've talked about how you're the type of person that loves to give gifts. That is your sign of love, your love language. but sometimes buying gifts can get you into trouble.

00:48:52 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, man. And you thought I learned my lesson by now. This is the first conversation I've had with Sherelle, but recently- Your girlfriend is Sherelle, for those that don't know.

00:48:59 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 3:

First off, people are starting to learn you, who you are, Kev, and we're starting to learn who his girlfriend is. Actually, these guys have never even talked to Sherelle before. Yeah. We got to get her on one day. Anytime you want, you tell me. I'm dialing that phone, but I'm making sure you're the one that's telling me to do it.

00:49:16 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

You got to call her now. Right, exactly. We want to have that again. But yeah, so gift giving Realizing now that that is literally A love language, I love giving gifts I love making people feel loved And that I'm paying attention To who they are, my gifts always have to be Intentional, so Cody Trombley Big shout out to Cody Promotions director here, I was in her office And I was in there for like 30 minutes And she was telling me all about the birth of her child And everything with that, and I was so engulfed In this story, and as I look around her office It's Harley Quinn everything So I bought her like this sweet Harley Quinn Little miniature doll thing With the Corvette Stingray It's dope So it comes in and I'm like excited I'm like Sherelle look And I get the hmm

00:50:00 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Sherelle does not appreciate me buying gifts and giving it to other people. Is it other women? Is it other women?

00:50:10 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 3:

Especially women that she doesn't know. First off, Kev, can we stop this guy for one second? Because I love you. Honestly, I feel like Mike and I both need to mentor you a little bit because we've made mistakes in our lives. Lots of them. You're new to radio. Lots of them. You interned back in the day for JLB, but you've never been on the air before, right? Until now? You do not buy a gift for a woman at the place that you just started working until your wife has either met that woman or looked her up and down with her own eyes saying, I know, or is friends with that woman.

00:50:52 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing. Give it to me, Megan. I hate saying this. I hate it more than anything. Oh, here it comes. Go ahead. Go ahead. Save this. Mojo's right. Yeah! Yeah! Got it. Why? Why is he right? Because I think that sometimes relationships are hard to navigate, especially when new people are being introduced and you're not around to know what the dynamic is or what English is in my case. And I don't think what you did is wrong because I know the whole situation and I know everybody involved and I know you were just being nice. But I think if I didn't know everybody involved, I'd be like, what the hell is going on?

00:51:35 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 4:

The biggest thing in Sherelle and I's relationship, and it's been like this since the beginning, her word is boundaries. I don't know boundaries. And my thing is like, when I think about anything, it comes down to, do you know the person that you're with? Do you trust the person that you're with? If you love me, if you trust me, then you know in no way, shape, or form, this is anything but Kevin giving a gift to a friend because he enjoys that person. And she knows your heart, and that's just what you love doing.

00:52:01 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 3:

Let's not make this deep. No, I get it. This guy stepped in dog doo-doo. He should not. You have to ask. Because this guy, Kevin gets away with some things every now and again because he does this whole preacher man stuff where all of a sudden he's like, me? Let me just tell you who I am.

00:52:16 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 4:

The glass may be greener on the other side, but is it always green in your heart?

00:52:20 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 3:

I can get away with this because I just want you to know that my intention is. Breathe a little heavier. But here's the deal. Well, and I'll say this to you, if I started working at a new place, and I remember when I first started working here, Chelsea had never met Sarah who was on the show, and I remember coming home one day, or actually, no, it was on the phone, she was still back in Arizona before we had moved across the country here, and I remember telling her, oh my God, you got to see Sarah, she's the greatest, and I sat there, and blah, blah, blah, I'm talking about Sarah, and I got the, huh, like one of those, like, huh, and Chelsea is very confident in who she is and she also knows, I'm scared to death of her. It was, let me tell you, you got to make sure. What you need to say with the Cody thing is, because I know Cody, you got to say, Cody, who's married to a big dude named James, and Cody kind of honestly would kick my ass if I did anything wrong.

00:53:21 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 2:

Isn't James always in his underwear? How do you compete with that?

00:53:23 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 3:

You can't do the You gotta like let her And then you gotta show her a picture And say this is Cody And then she's gotta see if that's your type

00:53:31 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 4:

That's so performative

00:53:33 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 3:

What's up Marlene how you doing

00:53:35 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 1:

Good morning everybody Welcome to the show again Kevin

00:53:41 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate you Marlene

00:53:42 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay this is the way you can look at it Outside of your kids she is your number one right Yep Okay so anything you wanna do the love for her should overpower it. And if it's something that you know is going to upset her, it should be X immediately. New preacher in the house.

00:54:02 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 3:

Preacher. By the way, we got our female. Bless you. Bless her. Bless him.

00:54:09 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 1:

You should never accept a gift from any other female.

00:54:14 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes. If you come home with a gift and you say that came from Angel in Sales, Sherelle better know who Angel in Sales is.

00:54:21 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 4:

Which you will get a gift from Angel in Sales. Yes, you will. She's a great gift giver. Here's a philosophy that I have.

00:54:27 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 3:

Now let Marlene, by the way, keep preaching because I'm telling you, she's teaching you something and you're not listening.

00:54:32 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 1:

My kid's father came home with an apple pie from his kid's mother as a thank you for fixing her door. That went right in the garbage. You're not here today.

00:54:42 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 2:

You are not playing, Marlene. Oh, I'd eat the pie.

00:54:46 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 3:

She's not eating any pie. As a matter of fact, nothing from the ex, right?

00:54:50 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 1:

No, you gave him the gift of a child. That's all he needs.

00:54:53 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 3:

That's the only pie he's getting.

00:54:55 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm with Megan, though.

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I'd eat the pie and just be like, oh, I'm so mad.

00:54:59 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Don't talk to her.

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, Marlene.

00:55:04 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate you so much. I love you so much for that. What were you going to say, Calvin? I'm sorry.

00:55:08 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 6:

Listen, I hear all of that. But at the same time, so sacrifice is huge in any relationship, right? You have to. Am I calling someone? You have to give up things, right? Hello. What's happening?

00:55:21 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you? Hi. Hi. Hey, this is my girlfriend, by the way. I just want you to know I have a girlfriend on the side from Chelsea. She's okay with it. She's good with it.

00:55:30 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 4:

I just know Chelsea's going to kill you.

00:55:31 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 5:

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce to the Mojo in the Morning listeners for the very first time ever on our show, the one and only, Sherelle.

00:55:39 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. Hi, Sherelle. Good morning.

00:55:44 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 5:

I did text her, by the way, to say, is it okay to call you? And Sherelle, okay, so Kev, go ahead. Say what you're going to say.

00:55:52 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 6:

So, Sherelle and I have had this conversation before as well. Sacrifice is huge when you're in a relationship. If you have to give up things that maybe you don't want to give up. But where's the line between sacrificing something and just giving in and cowering to somebody's feelings and coddling them because that's what they want?

00:56:07 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 4:

Those were interesting choices. I would not have used those words.

00:56:11 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 5:

This is who I am. Sherelle, you could have done so much better. I was going to tell you that.

00:56:19 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 6:

Sherelle, I know I love her and I do.

00:56:20 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 5:

I know you do.

00:56:21 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 1:

I think that you can still be who you are and have the heart that you have and be the guy that you want to be and, you know, kind and intentional and thoughtful while also honoring Sherelle's feelings, though. Like, I don't think that you have to totally go to the other side and give up that joy of gift-giving. Sherelle, what say you? Huh?

00:56:41 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 6:

What say you? How do you feel, like, when I give gifts to other people? I feel like you don't like it. To other women.

00:56:46 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 5:

What do you think when he gives a gift to another woman here at work?

00:56:48 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so obviously I was listening in already, so I heard some of the comments, and I agree, and it's literally how I feel. So obviously every woman that Kevin has attempted to give gifts to is not married, I don't know, and he comes home, it's like, oh yeah, you know, babe, you've been working with her, and she likes this, so I was thinking about getting her that, and I'm like, she get a paycheck just like you.

00:57:15 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 4:

to defend kev here for a quick second wouldn't it be a lot shadier if he wasn't coming to you saying and telling you what i got for so and so versus just doing it and then you find out no yes

00:57:36 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

no so kevin and i want and i'm sure you guys already know this kevin is one of the most honest people that I have ever met in my life so he's definitely gonna always come to me ask for my opinion but you know most of the time my opinion is totally opposite of he is when it comes to buying gifts for women now is it different when I know you and I know the dynamic of their relationship and I have all the facts absolutely but you can't lead with the gift without me even know it exactly okay that's it that is fair you got absolutely fair and you know what i have said

00:58:11 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 5:

this often to uh you kevin don't make the same mistakes that i have but also but also do it because it's fun to watch somebody else it is i mean i tell you mike you know what the greatest in the world is it's like in school when another kid in the class got in trouble i loved every minute of it oh yeah you got a detention this year ah yes and what i would do is i would sit there in the corner going i'm so sorry that this is going on cherelle i uh want to welcome you to the radio family i want you to know that you are uh a beautiful lady with a beautiful man and uh anything you ever need from any of us we're there for you and for kev and for the the babies

00:58:51 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 3:

thank you so much and i do want to tell the show really quick you are we're actually invited to the gender reveal? We just knew you had Taylor Swift. Oh, yes.

00:59:01 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. And I just want to let you know that I got you a gift, too. I know we've never met yet, but I got you a gift. Love you, Sheree.

00:59:10 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 5:

And the other thing I do want you to know is that Kev is no longer allowed to buy any gifts around here because we have just made it possible that he has to actually get approval on any charge on his debit card from us. We're changing his pin.

00:59:23 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 4:

I don't like her. She even sounds attractive.

00:59:26 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 5:

You have the best voice.

00:59:29 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm so jealous.

00:59:30 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, wait till you see her. What's up, Danielle? What's going on?

00:59:35 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hi. Yeah, I was just saying my fiance is a very big gift giver. I mean, I come home to packages all the time. He buys my friend's gifts, my family gifts, just random gifts. Oh, I think this person will like this. He even bought our realtor a gift because he's a gift giver and he's just so thankful and appreciates.

00:59:54 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 5:

What if he gives a single girl that works at his office a gift?

00:59:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I think.

01:00:00 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 1:

The issue was the fact that Pharrell did not know who the person is. I know all these people, and he always asks me, like, oh, do you think this person would like this? I would like to give them a gift. He always asks me about the gift-giving.

01:00:11 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 2:

What if he buys somebody else a beautiful gift that's more beautiful than any gift he buys you?

01:00:18 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay, maybe that's different.

01:00:20 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 3:

What if you are pregnant and you shouldn't be doing anything to save money?

01:00:25 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 2:

We got a budget. We got a kid on the list. All right, Mojo on the morning show. So I want to get into, I wonder if I got enough time for this topic. I think I do. What people are paying for Taylor Swift is obnoxious. Look what Taylor has made people do. They have been out of their minds. I got a text message yesterday, and I won't say exactly who it is, but it's a celebrity. It's somebody that actually is a major celebrity who sent me a text knowing that we got Taylor here in town. And they have my phone number Because they've been on our show A couple of times doing interviews Offering me $10,000 For two tickets To go to Taylor Swift Which got me to say to them

01:01:13 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes

01:01:14 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

I think that And I said Go to StubHub I think that they've got to be less than

01:01:21 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 1:

Whatever

01:01:22 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 2:

But they were like no I know you got The good seats and I want to make sure that you get me and my daughter some good seats people are spending crazy money on this and then i was talking to the very famous celebrity stylist katrina from six salon she does many celebrities including my hair actually katrina i just figure i'm gonna slide my name in there with all the other people that you do but she doesn't tell me who the celebrities are because they don't want me talking about it on the radio but katrina has been getting calls from people and katrina welcome to the mojo in the morning show how are you hi cat good morning guys hey katrina tell these guys what people are spending to get their hair and makeup done plus buy clothes for the

01:02:11 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 1:

taylor swift concerts i am literally shook okay so i also do feel like a hypocrite because i'm trying to go to beyonce and i may do the same exact thing but that being said everyone is coming in i am doing extension pencil hot pink hair braids um we working on saturday doing a massive group at home who told me bring all the glitter bring all the things we want everything like It's so intense. I have three stylist friends who are working to dress people to go to the concert. So I just thought this is the wildest thing I've ever experienced in all my years of this business.

01:02:56 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And I want listeners to call us up, and I want you to be honest. You don't have to say your name. You can be Voices, guys, and tell us the expense that you've paid for Taylor Swift because I thought there was a recession out there. Tell everybody how much money That one particular Was spending on extensions For just Taylor Swift's concert

01:03:14 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 1:

She's at about $2,200 Wow Just for this show

01:03:20 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 2:

What kind of extensions are we doing

01:03:21 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 1:

Obviously she's not going to take them out The amount of joy that's coming with it too And let's thank Taylor Swift And all the Swifties For this massive amount of money For everyone around us They're stimulating the economy

01:03:38 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 3:

What does it cost to do makeup? How much does it cost to do a

01:03:44 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 1:

Makeup is Application at my salon usually around $86 Yeah It's wild and then it's waste And the glitter and then I want stones And I want eyelashes It's like oh your $86 basic Has now turned into a $150 it's wild It's fun

01:04:04 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

Katrina, I think the reason why Mike's asking is Mike's taking Cecily to the concert, and he brought Cecily in here, and Mike has to do Cecily's makeup because mom's at home with the baby.

01:04:17 - 01:04:45 | Speaker 3:

We have been, and I don't know if this is common or not, we've been very strict with makeup. We've been just makeup in the house. She doesn't go out with it on. She just keeps it maybe a little bit of glitter, but outside of that, there is no makeup worn outside of the house, and I get it. We're probably a little strict with it, but Allie gave me the go-ahead and handed me some makeup and said she can wear makeup to Taylor Swift. Short. What, Allie? Look at her. I don't know what I'm doing, guys.

01:04:45 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 2:

She's jumping up and down right now with excitement.

01:04:48 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Cecily, come on. Get stuff that you can do with your fingers, like just glitter that's in a pot that's already creamy and slide it straight across, or it's super easy. Don't buy anything.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 4:

that has to be, like, applied twice.

01:05:02 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you don't need to be doing contour on a nine-year-old. Right. I don't know what that is. What's contour? If you don't know what it is, you don't need it.

01:05:09 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 4:

Some lip gloss, some sparkles. Come on.

01:05:12 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 3:

Cecily, are you excited?

01:05:14 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:05:16 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 3:

Did you know that your mom has given me permission to put makeup, and we're going to get fingernail polish and toenail polish, and you get to wear makeup for the first time outside of the house to this concert?

01:05:30 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 1:

Best day ever, man. Oh, my gosh.

01:05:35 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what to do. Do I put lipstick on?

01:05:37 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 5:

Lip gloss. Lip gloss? Sparkly lip gloss. This is like a...

01:05:41 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 3:

We're going from little girl now to...

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 5:

Can I do this?

01:05:45 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 2:

Can I share... Kat, can I share your number and Mike can FaceTime with you? And maybe you can teach him a couple of things while he's on Facebook.

01:05:53 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Please, Mike. Or bring her to me. I'll do it. I don't care. Oh, my God.

01:05:57 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 3:

You get your makeup done by Katrina from Sixth Salon. I feel like I should learn how to do it, too, so I'll help you do it, if that's okay.

01:06:04 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Maybe not. I can't.

01:06:05 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 3:

Don't even know who you are.

01:06:09 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 1:

She's just burning you left and right.

01:06:10 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 3:

She's a stylist, sweetie. She's a stylist. She knows what she's doing. Yeah, she does celebrities and stuff.

01:06:16 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 1:

What I mean, I don't know where she is and stuff.

01:06:20 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she's here. She's right. Yeah, she's not. Hold on one second real quick. Josh, how much money did you spend on tickets for Taylor? $1,300 apiece. Oh, my God.

01:06:28 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 5:

What? When did you buy yours recently?

01:06:32 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 4:

I bought mine actually about probably two months ago. Oh, okay. I want to surprise my wife for her birthday, and we're expecting baby number two, so I figured it would be.

01:06:43 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 5:

You are a good husband, Josh.

01:06:46 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 2:

Dude, you know what's amazing? $1,300 a piece, you're going to be also paying that in parking, too, and wait until you go downtown and see what that's like.

01:06:53 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 4:

We got a driver, because I don't want to deal with the parking. Oh, my God.

01:06:57 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 2:

Was your driver more expensive? Because I've heard that. I've heard that people were, you know, booking drivers, and the drivers, because it's such a tough thing getting Ubers in Detroit.

01:07:08 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 4:

The driver was $270, which I didn't think was terrible, considering it's a six-hour thing. It's going there five at night, so.

01:07:15 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:07:16 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 4:

That's not terrible. The fees are awful. Sublum fees were $600. Yeah.

01:07:20 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 5:

That's crazy. Something needs to be done about that. It's ridiculous.

01:07:23 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, the thing is, if you're willing to pay $1,300 a seat, that's why they jack those fees up. All right. Oh, yeah. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it. Katrina, thank you so much, too. Okay? Have a great day.

01:07:35 - 01:07:36 | Unknown:

All right. Next song in the mojo in the morning, Throwback, A Throwdown. Title and artist, please. Is

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

That's a 50 cent

01:10:23 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 1:

You can get to know me. Is that belt a size shmedium? Is that a size shmedium?

01:10:34 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 2:

Here's the deal. Mike will actually give you back the belt if you give him the headband.

01:10:41 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 1:

I love the headband. Yeah, I do too. Don't let him make fun of the headband.

01:10:43 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 2:

War ready. All right. Next song can make Mike a winner, right, KP?

01:10:47 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 3:

What is that? Wait, what's the alarm for?

01:12:01 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 3:

We have to call somebody? We're calling somebody. Oh.

01:12:08 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 3:

I totally thought it was like a birth control alarm for somebody in this room. At 8.30 a.m.?

01:12:13 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 2:

All I kept thinking to myself was, was that God saying that Megan got one right?

01:12:25 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 1:

I did.

01:12:27 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 2:

01:12:40 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 1:

We're right here.

01:12:41 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 2:

Have a great weekend.

01:22:04 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the

01:22:06 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 7:

30. If I die, I want to die happy at Taylor Swift. And here we go. What do we got for the Dirty on the 30 this hour? Well,

01:22:14 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 1:

former President Trump has been indicted for a second time, this time on federal charges related to his handling of classified info while out of office. This has to do with all of those boxes of documents at Mar-a-Lago. The former president faces at least seven charges and could face up to 100 years in prison if convicted of

01:22:33 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 2:

all of them. This is ABC News' Dan Abrams. We talk a lot about, well, there was the New York case also. I really do believe that case becomes secondary to this case. This one becomes much more significant. It becomes a much more overwhelming one. And this is where politics

01:22:49 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 1:

and law intersect. Set to be arraigned in federal court in Miami on Tuesday in a statement on social media he wrote last night he'd been told of the indictment insisted this whole thing was just a

01:23:00 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 4:

hoax so i just want to tell you i'm an innocent man i did nothing wrong we will prove that very

01:23:06 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 1:

very soundly and hopefully very quickly here's his lawyer jim trustee speaking which is ludicrous

01:23:12 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 6:

oh wrong clip i think hold on i was gonna play this one right the other one yeah uh

01:23:18 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 3:

trump three trump three there you go his reaction was personal but it wasn't you know he thought about he said this is just a sad day i can't believe i've been indicted you know those are kind of my my summary words of what he had to say but at the same time he immediately recognizes the historic nature of this uh real quick uh i know that we got his clip from social truth social and

01:23:40 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 7:

then we've got his lawyer talking about him but we have a very special guest on the phone with us i don't know if the listeners know this but uh president trump former president trump a big fan of Mojo in the Morning, listens to us every morning on the iHeartRadio app, and he is on the phone with us right now. Hello. How are you? How are you doing?

01:24:02 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 5:

You'll never find another president like me. How are you, Mojo? Excited. You're excited for Taylor Swift, too. I am. I was wondering, could I get some tickets for my son, Baron? He's trying to impress a girl. I would really like a four-pack, maybe a family four-pack, possibly. President Detroit visiting.

01:24:25 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 7:

Listen, Detroit is...

01:24:26 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing a lot of fundraising, believe me.

01:24:29 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so you're hanging out here in town. I did not know that you're actually in town on the day that this indictment's coming down, President Trump. How are you feeling?

01:24:36 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 5:

The president's so nice, they indicted him twice, okay? By the way, is it indicting or indicting? The ancient Greeks called it indictment. It comes from a word indictos, which means to rake them over the coals, okay?

01:24:51 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

01:24:52 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Donald, I'm telling you, how's your medium-time show doing, by the way, Mojo? It's not a big-time show. You're close. You're close. I know. I know we're not.

01:25:00 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 2:

It's not like one of those other big shows that you hear all the time, but we try, but we get you.

01:25:03 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 3:

But you're getting a huge bump in the ratings with my guest spot here. You're welcome.

01:25:06 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. You and Taylor Swift. Everybody's hoping for this two for Taylor thing going on.

01:25:11 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 3:

I love the Taylor Swift. She's great. Hi, I'm the problem. It's me, the guy they indicted. Seven charges. Can you believe seven charges? But that's a magic number. They hit me with seven counts, Mojo. It's a magical number. You know, seven wonders of the world, seven seas, Megan's breasts weigh seven pounds each.

01:25:34 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 2:

President Trump, you can't say that. How you doing, gal?

01:25:38 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I've never been more in love with you.

01:25:41 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm usually not this forward, but I'm going to just cut to the chase. Would you like to see my mushroom calf? I'm not talking Super Mario Brothers Shrinky Dink. I'm talking like a big portabella cafe.

01:25:53 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. President Trump, they say that you could go to prison for a hundred years. How do you live a hundred years to go to prison for that?

01:26:02 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I hope they have gold-plated toilets, okay? And I'm not sleeping with anybody named Bubba. I blame Sleepy Joe for all of this. Grandpa hugs and plugs. Sleepy Joe, he's the one behind all of this. He has horrible cognitive. I don't know how he's going to be president. I have brilliant cognitive. I can run the country and sleepy joke and hold a banana thinking it's a telephone. Seriously.

01:26:28 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen.

01:26:28 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 3:

How's everybody on the show?

01:26:30 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 1:

We're good.

01:26:30 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 2:

We're excited for Taylor Swift, but Shannon's got more stories to get to.

01:26:34 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so get off the phone, respectfully. Are you still hitched to this canook?

01:26:38 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 3:

What is going on now? Do you have time to back out of this thing? I do, but I will not. What kind of marital advice could you give to Shannon? First of all, I got bad news. He's a spy working for the Canadian government. I don't know if you knew that. He's trying to get Michigan's maple syrup recipe. Seriously. You're a pawn, honey. Get out while you're doing it. Go down to Mar-a-Lago, baby.

01:27:02 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Listen, President Trump, we will be watching the news. They say Tuesday you're going in to face this indictment, and we wish you a great weekend. We appreciate you checking in.

01:27:11 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 3:

All right, and I wish you to be safe Friday and Saturday night down there. Don't even bother calling for an Uber. It's going to be a terrible Uber night, okay?

01:27:18 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 2:

All right. We will talk to you later, sir.

01:27:20 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo.

01:27:21 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 2:

Bye-bye. We'll see you. Bye-bye. Former President Trump.

01:27:24 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 1:

All right. That was epic.

01:27:27 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 2:

Amazing.

01:27:27 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 1:

In Other Dirty Today, Raquel Levis still getting treatment in a mental health facility 68 days after the taping of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, which we all just saw this week. She's obviously been getting a lot of backlash amid the Scandaval, so she checked into the facility in April. It is an inpatient behavioral health and trauma facility. She remains there. A friend of hers telling me last night her treatment is essentially helping her learn the basis, the root of her decisions to help her grow from her mistakes and hopefully make better choices and become a better person in the future. By the way, her fellow Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent said she now looking back feels kind of sorry for Raquel.

01:28:07 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 4:

After watching last night when she finally had the breakdown, just as a human, it was like if this is for me, it's like it's a reality TV show. I feel like we're all kind of playing the same game. Yeah. When I watched that, I was like, oh, we may be dealing with someone who maybe shouldn't be on this type of platform. You have to know that when you're on a show like this, you make bad decisions. These are the things that kind of happen, especially when you're throwing daggers at people while you're doing something like that. You're going to get the smoke. But she definitely, I don't know how other people feel about the last five minutes, but I did sit there and go, oh, s***.

01:28:46 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 1:

When she broke down. Yeah. She needs some real help. Are they in a bathroom? Ariana Maddox, by the way, changing her tune a little bit, too, and saying she now actually kind of feels sorry for Raquel.

01:28:56 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Were they in a bathroom? It sounded like the dryer that dries your hands.

01:28:59 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 1:

I think they were at the other point. I got to go back and watch the video. Real quick, Kanye West snubbed on his birthday. None. Zero. Not one of the Kardashian-Jenner family members shared a birthday post on social media for Kim's baby daddy. He turned 46 yesterday. Well, it is shocking considering they always wish all of the exes a happy birthday, but everybody was silent when it came to come in.

01:29:23 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 2:

That's too bad. We should wish them a happy birthday.

01:29:25 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, if you are headed to Taylor Swift at Ford Field tonight or tomorrow night, just a couple of things that you should know.

01:29:34 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 2:

Let me get a Taylor song ready to go here.

01:29:36 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

If you're going, make sure you've got those clear bags. That's how you're going to carry your stuff in. If you did make a ton of friendship bracelets, they will only permit bracelets that are worn into Ford Field. So you can make 200 of them, but you got to wear them in. You can't bring them in in any sort of container or bag. Portable charges are permitted upon passing inspection.

01:30:00 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 4:

So go ahead and make sure you're all covered for all of your videos and photos. There is no parents waiting room at Ford Field. So just know you got to meet up somewhere. I got to be honest with you. Outside of the facility.

01:30:11 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't think as a parent I'm leaving my child in Ford Field. I agree with you.

01:30:16 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I agree with you. And then there is a special area for ride share, drop off and pick up, Uber, Lyft, limos, party buses, whatever. And you can check out FordField.com for all of the info there. and look at a map of where exactly that is. They're not going to be bringing you right up to the doors. They're going to be walking.

01:30:34 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 1:

Children start at 17 years old. So children 17 years and younger should be accompanied to the concert by an adult. If you're not, what do they do?

01:30:43 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. That's a great question. It doesn't say.

01:30:46 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Don't anybody come up to our booth and ask me to take you in. I'm not doing that. We're not being responsible. I don't think our iHeart Insurance allows that.

01:30:54 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:30:55 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 3:

Why?

01:30:56 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 1:

I was about to be like, you can just slide into my DMs,

01:30:58 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 4:

But you're right, that's a good point

01:30:59 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 3:

That would be bad

01:32:02 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 4:

You have to get that all the time, don't you?

01:32:04 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 3:

Once in a while, I do. You actually opened for Pitbull at Pine Knob, I remember.

01:32:09 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Pitbull loves you. He's a big fan of your... Yeah, Pine Knob, and actually soundboard as well while he was on his way up with hotel room service before he started doing the bigger stadiums. When you ran out on stage the very first time, did people automatically think that it was Pitbull coming up? You also dressed nice, too. Yeah, thank you. Soundboard, that actually happened, And I had a quick ego check as I saw their faces drop and realized that it wasn't, in fact, Pitbull coming out. Well, I love you so much.

01:32:34 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 3:

You're going to be with us on our daddy-daughter dance night on the 23rd. I cannot wait. District 142, is that what it is? I was going to say 162. I don't know. I was adding to it. I'm pumped. I talk to your dad, girl. Pick out the white dress. That's a love story. Baby, just say, take your heart. We'll be right back.

01:40:00 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 3:

Check out Bojie on his official website, bojiemusic.com I don't like your little games, don't like your tilted stage, the role you made me play, the fool, no I don't like you, I don't like your perfect crime, how you laugh when you lie, you said the gun was mine, isn't cool, no I don't like you. But I get smarter, I get harder in the nick of time Honey, I rose upon the dead, I do it all the time I've got a list of names and roses in red underlined I check it once, then I check it twice Oh, look what you made me do

Look what you just made me do Look what you just made me Oh, look what you made me do Look what you made me do Look what you just made me do Look what you just made me do. Like your kingdom caves. They once belonged to me. You asked me for a place to sleep. Locked me out and threw a feast. What? The world moves on another day, another drama, drama. But not for me, not for me. All I think about is karma. And then the world moves on, but one thing's for sure. Hey, it's Taylor Swift with Mojo in the Morning.

01:42:16 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 4:

by the way why am i so i'm fascinated i we do so many parties with boji but i get so fascinated to stand in next to him you know what it is i think it's because every time that i've ever in my life used to do like club gigs all the girls would sit there and hang by the dj booth and it was like if i could get girls to hang out by me just sitting there doing that i have no rhythm to do it. Nice job, man. Great job. Give it up for Boji and a pre-party there. What's up, Carrie? How you doing?

01:42:51 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing good.

01:42:53 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 4:

01:43:10 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 3:

Doug. He is a huge Taylor Swift fan.

01:43:13 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, I love it. And two dudes hanging out at a Taylor show, that's going to be interesting. Yeah, what's up with it? I think it's perfect. There'd be lots of ladies there, so it's a perfect place to go, just like me at the DJ booth.

01:43:23 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift, two shows. We're going two for Taylor. Between now and the concert, listen for us to play two Taylor Swift songs back to back.

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:44:11 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 4:

01:44:16 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 2:

It's your birthday. What is this? Assuming that it's about time that we celebrate your birthday.

01:44:21 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Do we have dancing people here? Is there anybody here? It's good. I remember the year. I remember the year that our producer ended up getting a, I think it was a stripper clown or something like that for me. It was terrifying. That's a nightmare You gotta see where they put the red nose though That was amazing That was like unbelievable We're doing a shot right now We're doing a shot right now Ready? Raise your glass And this is to you guys All of us in the studio hanging out

01:45:00 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Happy Taylor Swift weekend. We love you guys. Yeah, cheers. What am I drinking? Mmm. Ooh, wow. Glitter in here. Wowie. Why is that glittery? Thank you, by the way, to Green Flame Tequila for all the boxes of tequila over the years. By the way, does it ever expire? I want to know if it ever expires.

01:45:30 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 1:

No, I think it ages.

01:45:31 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Does it? Is that what it is? Ages is like fine wine. Thank you. Megan's got the next topic up here, and it says-

01:45:37 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Great, great, great, great, great. Love that we just ripped a shot, and then it's my turn.

01:45:40 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 2:

It says Megan's secret date, and I know that Megan was planning on a special topic about her secret date, but I am here to tell you that this is twofold, Megan.

01:45:53 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 1:

Uh-oh.

01:45:54 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 2:

You ready for this one?

01:45:55 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 1:

Not particularly.

01:45:56 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 2:

01:48:00 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 2:

It's just not happening. Can I ask a question? Does this actually affect Taylor Swift fans to know that I personally like Taylor Swift? I don't love Taylor Swift. And Megan personally doesn't love Taylor Swift. But I think you're coming around. I think that anti-hero made me more of a fan. I don't know why that is.

01:48:20 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, me too. Antihero is kind of my like, wait, do I like her?

01:48:25 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 2:

If we show up at this thing, is it like us showing up to like a 96.3 WDVD promotion where people are going to look at us like, what the hell are you guys doing in this show?

01:48:36 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Probably. What are you doing in these parts?

01:48:39 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had that? It's like going to, honestly, it's like I see these people that will go, like the Lakers fans do this all the time with Pistons. There are more Lakers fans at a Pistons game than there are Pistons fans. But when they wear their stuff there, it's like, what the hell is that all about? It's you and I at a Taylor Swift concert. You guys got to get matching friendship bracelets. Oh, my gosh. Cecily, can you work on that for me? For a $20 fee. Thank you, Cecily.

01:49:05 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 1:

Smart man.

01:49:06 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 2:

So here's the story is that I was going to give my tickets to Mike and Cecily and then Mike yesterday, actually. Well, where are you sitting? It's not too late. I'm right here. Michael! Wherever Brett Dumbler is putting us. Let's put it that way. Hi, Brett. Real quick, I wanted to do your topic of the secret date, though, because this is actually a good topic. But your friend is going through a little bit of a dilemma on whether or not to date somebody.

01:49:37 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is one of my girlfriends. She is, well, last night, she actually went on a secret date.

01:49:44 - 01:49:44 | Unknown:

Ooh!

01:49:45 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 1:

Right? Participation, Kev. Yes, thank you. Thank you, Shannon. Thank you.

01:49:48 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 2:

or no i need oh hold on a second ready a secret date

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah there it is there it is um now if you're wondering okay why was this a secret date well

01:50:00 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 6:

One of the guy that she went on the date with, she had met through an online dating site and one of her friends had already matched with this guy earlier in the year and had also gone on a couple of dates with him. But it didn't work out. Not that it was like bad or anything. They just realized it maybe wasn't going anywhere. Not a match. But it wasn't even, I asked her, I was like, so did they end it? And she was like, no, they just kind of stopped talking to each other. And then I wondered, well, is that breaking girl code or not? Because they didn't actually say, I'm not interested, sorry, move on. It just kind of phased out, which doesn't always mean I wasn't interested. I could have just met. It wasn't our time right now. So is it breaking girl code that she went out with him? Because she didn't tell her friend she did. And she's not until she, like, decides if she likes him or not.

01:50:54 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 2:

And the friend, again, the closeness of the friend, they live together, right? Right? Or no?

01:50:59 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 6:

Where did you get that from?

01:51:00 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 2:

Or no. I thought they said that they live together or something earlier this morning when you were telling us the story.

01:51:04 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 6:

Kev, hey, remember how I told you that we don't tell Mojo anything? Because I was saying it on the air. Another prime example of everybody in the studio going, oh. Hey, blame me on alcohol. I tried to cover for you.

01:51:17 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 2:

I tried. No. I brought this up earlier this morning That this could not only affect your friendship But it can affect your lease You did not say that on the air I did too But no, I said that off the air Nobody stopped me at that time Lord

01:51:33 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 6:

So yes, it's a roommate

01:51:34 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

So here's the deal I don't think you do that That's why I think it's important That you gotta bring that up

01:51:41 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 6:

You know what, that is pretty fair I do think it's a big piece of the puzzle She's just gonna be very mad That's Swayze

01:51:47 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

If you think anymore anyway, why keep it a secret? I feel like that's just added anxiety. She should just come right out. You should always come right out right at the beginning and say, hey, I matched with him. I think I want to go out with him. Are you cool with this? And then you're not constantly thinking about it. You're not having to keep it a secret. It's just way less work.

01:52:05 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 1:

I think maybe the thought process was, I don't want to make it a problem if it's not a problem. If I go out with him and it doesn't turn anything, why even bring it up?

01:52:12 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 3:

But it's going to come. But then it always comes up at some point. Especially if y'all live together. Because if you want to bring him home, that's... Or somebody saw them or whatever.

01:52:23 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 2:

See, that's why you had to bring it up. Because what happens, like Kevin said, if you're going to go out with this guy and say, let's go home, you have to go to that guy's home all the time otherwise. What's up? Cecily. Not Mike Cecily, though, right?

01:52:37 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 5:

I was about to say. Oh, yes. Mike Cecily.

01:52:41 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Hold on. Hold on, Mike. You better be careful. Hi. No, this is Cecily. Oh, wait. Oh, no. This is Cecily's teacher.

01:52:51 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh. This is Cecily's teacher calling up.

01:52:53 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 2:

Why is Cecily's teacher calling up about this topic? Are you calling up about this topic or are you just calling up just to say hi?

01:52:59 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 5:

I want to say hi to Cecily. I hear she's in studio today.

01:53:01 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I thought you were part of the topic. We're in the midst of a topic about Megan's friend dating here, and I thought.

01:53:07 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 6:

To be fair, Cecily's way cuter than I am, so.

01:53:09 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. We'll let you say hi to Cecily real quick, and then I got to get back to my topic.

01:53:12 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. Hold on.

01:53:13 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 2:

Cecily, your teacher, what's your name, miss?

01:53:16 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

Mrs. Bidelec.

01:53:17 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 2:

Mrs. Bidelec is on the phone, Cecily.

01:53:19 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, Mrs. Bidelec. Hi. How are you? Good. I miss you so much, and I heard you were on the radio, and I'm like, I have to get a hold of you and say hi. What a big day for you. I know. I can't believe I'm hearing you right now. Oh, my gosh.

01:53:35 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 2:

She's going to see Taylor Swift tonight, Mrs. Bidelec.

01:53:38 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 5:

Well, I heard, and you know what? Mrs. Bidelec was supposed to be there tonight, but life happens, And so, I'm not going to make it, but my girls will be there.

01:53:46 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 2:

Aw.

01:53:47 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, I'm so excited.

01:53:48 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 5:

So, I'm going to tell them to look for you tonight, okay? Okay.

01:53:51 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 2:

You're the best, Mrs. Bidelak.

01:53:53 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 5:

You have so much fun, and send me some pictures, okay, babes? Okay.

01:53:56 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you... All right, bye, see you girls. Take care of yourself.

01:53:58 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 5:

Sweet teacher.

01:53:59 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 2:

What a nice... Have a great summer. What a nice lady. One of the best teachers she's ever had. Oh, my gosh. All right. So sweet. If she was really the best teacher, you would have taken her also to Taylor Swift. Mm-hmm.

01:54:10 - 01:54:11 | Unknown:

Ah.

01:54:11 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 3:

He already has the college girls next door.

01:54:16 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 2:

Cecily, let's go in the other room. Okay. People are trying to get through on the phone lines for the Taylor contest. People are trying to get through it for your topic but aren't getting through. Text here. 810 says, Megan, tell your friend not a good idea, not good to actually mix roommates with pleasure. Yeah. That's actually a good point. Another one here says, wow, if she's going to do this, what else will she also take from this particular friend? Okay, that seems a lie.

01:54:47 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 6:

I feel like that's, are we doing yoga this morning? Because we're stretching. Fantastic four auditions?

01:54:52 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I like that one. 734 says, Megan, tell your friend, go for it. There's no. Not a lot of good guys in this world. Take the good one and go. You can always find a new place to live.

01:55:05 - 01:55:09 | Speaker 4:

You're also giving a lot of credit. We're just assuming this guy is good. What's the probability of that?

01:55:09 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, I hear all the time from you and from others on the show that dating is tough, that there's not a lot of good men out there.

01:55:18 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Has anyone on the show dated someone that did go out with a friend before? Does a sister count?

01:55:27 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have. Sure. Oh, wow. So how did that end up? I didn't even remember. I tried to block him out of my memory. Who was that? We worked together, and he dated a friend of mine. Oh, my God. Devil on tongue. That's not the right choice of words, but we're going with it.

01:55:42 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 2:

So you guys worked together, too? You and the girl worked together, or you and this guy worked together?

01:55:48 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 4:

Me and the guy worked together.

01:55:49 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 2:

And she dated one of your friends who also worked there, or didn't work there?

01:55:52 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what? No, okay, I worked with a guy. It was like a client of the station So I was there regularly It was during my club kiss days I dated one of the guys who worked at the bar And obviously I had other friends who had been in the area And dated him as well But yeah I totally forgot that I had done that

01:56:16 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 2:

And Mike you on the other hand You went full on sibling You went like right for sister Oh yeah yeah I dated sisters How hot is that by the way Well I wouldn't say date It's not like a date thing And we hooked up.

01:56:30 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 3:

Me too. Yeah. Hey, respect. They're bumping your fist.

01:56:33 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 2:

You guys, wait. Eskimo twins in a way. But not at the same time. You guys had a waiting period in between, right? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was at least a couple years. Joel, what did you want to say about that?

01:56:45 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was going to say, if they're roommates, it sounds like a great setup for a threesome. I think so, too, right?

01:56:51 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 4:

And they were roommates. Yeah.

01:56:53 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 2:

We've all watched that one. By the way, Joel, what's your... And I thought... Yeah?

01:56:57 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 4:

What's that?

01:56:57 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 2:

What's your favorite category of porn?

01:57:00 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 5:

Of porn? I'm not telling you that. It's stuck. Come on, Joel.

01:57:03 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 4:

It's stuck. It's the only one that people don't want to admit to.

01:57:06 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:57:07 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 4:

When you get stuck in space.

01:57:08 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 2:

Like a drag. Massage? You like the massage porn where they're doing the massage?

01:57:11 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's most realistic.

01:57:12 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What else were you going to say, Joel?

01:57:15 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 5:

I was just going to say I'm still surprised that Megan won Throwback Throwdown on a Taylor Swift song.

01:57:24 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it? That's why she's going to the concert tonight. That's why she gets to go. She's now a big fan

01:57:29 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 1:

Go Megan

01:57:30 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 4:

So they were seen together.

02:00:00 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 1:

They were together at the same hotel, like going in and out of a room. How is everybody acting in this room like that's normal? And here's the thing. They first got close in the U.S., okay? And then he, like, went to the show in London or whatever. So they've met up in the States before, which got people in the industry talking, and now they're hanging out in London all over the place while they're both there. Again, they were seen at the same hotel. And, yeah. Mike. So this is a thing.

02:00:24 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 2:

It's the new normal.

02:00:25 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 4:

This could be a thing.

02:00:25 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

It's not that, I mean.

02:00:58 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Different than Al Pacino. Correct. That 20-year-old, right?

02:01:01 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:01:02 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 2:

02:01:09 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 3:

02:01:19 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 3:

02:01:20 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 2:

That messy contract. He's trying to get a soccer player.

02:01:22 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Trying to get a soccer player. Shawn Mendes getting dragged by his fans for using a photo of a smoke-covered New York City to promote his new music, his latest single. So yesterday, he posted a photo on Instagram of the Manhattan skyline, which is, like, orange. Obviously, we've been talking about this. It's nearly invisible because of the smoke from those Canadian wildfires. And over the photo, he wrote the words, What the Hell Are We Dying For?, which I'm assuming is the name of his new single. And the comment section I mean people are just slamming him One comment, people are dying in wildfires And you're really going to decide to make it your aesthetic Another said Why are you trying to profit off a national Or a natural disaster And another He has lost his damn mind

02:02:08 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 2:

Last story.

02:02:29 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer Eversol. You don't know her. She's a mom of six from Santa Rosa, California. She is blowing up on TikTok after she accidentally glued her eye shut by mistaking a bottle of nail glue for her regular eye drops. Oh, no.

02:02:47 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I've only done it. I have won the most idiot person award. My eye drops sit directly next to super glue and they're the same size bottle and I wasn't paying attention and now my eyes moved shut.

02:03:03 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 4:

What an idiot. And I asked the people, I was like, has this happened before? Have you ever gotten a call like this? They're like, no. It's time to win my eyes. How dare you? How dare you?

02:03:17 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:03:38 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 1:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

02:03:47 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 2:

i would venture to say that today's show might be one of the most fun because everybody is here in studio with us today yeah yes and it's your birthday my birthday is on sunday and i'm telling you every time you say that i look at mike and he's He's got a grown look on his face. He's got a scowl on his face.

02:04:15 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 4:

Poor guy. By the end of the show, can we do the good birthday song for him?

02:04:19 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm with it. The good birthday song? Happy birthday. That's Stevie Wonder Rebace. Yeah. You guys understand how busy the city of Detroit over the last month or next month is going to be? Between what they have last week, they had guys in goofy looking cars driving around on the city. Is that the Grand Prix? Grand Prix. I've never I've never been first off I say this I've never been to a a car race is is a car race like going to horse racing where you just sit there and you're like when is this thing gonna end I don't think so no I think the speed the power the sounds it's exciting I would like I would like to go and usually I just root for, like, car crashes and stuff like that. Isn't that kind of what you want? Yeah, it's kind of like, yeah. He wants the excitement. You want to see the craziness of a car crash or something.

02:05:09 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 1:

I hope everybody's okay.

02:05:10 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Right, right. Well, I want to watch him roll. So we had, you're right, movement first, then that Grand Prix. We got Taylor Swift tonight. And then I think we got in between there, oh, the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Did you guys know that last year was one of the most exciting of the Rocket Mortgage Classic golf tournaments? What's that guy, Tony Finau? Is that the guy? I watched the golf, gosh, it was on, I think, Netflix, where you could watch them follow a bunch of golfers all around. And the one on Tony Finau was right here at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. I'm going to bring somebody on that knows more than what I know. He is the Chief Marketing Officer for Rocket Mortgage. The CMO, Casey Herbis, is his name. Casey, welcome to the show.

02:06:03 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 1:

Welcome.

02:06:05 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 2:

The Rocket Mortgage Classic is going on June 27th through July 2nd at Detroit Golf Club. This was Dan's big thing. Dan wanted to bring a professional golf tournament, but not to Oakland Hills and Bloomfield Hills. He wanted to bring it to the city of Detroit and actually have it in the city. And boy, his dream came true. And how many years now has this been?

02:06:26 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, listen, thanks so much for having me here today. And the excitement's awesome here in the room. And this is our fifth year of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. And you're exactly right. I mean, it was Dan Gilbert's vision to bring a PGA Tour event to the city of Detroit. There's 40-some-odd PGA Tour events, and there are only two that are in a city, Atlanta and Detroit. The rest of them are what? like in the outskirts or suburbs they're all they're all at a tpc or somewhat in the suburbs and that's one of the biggest things and biggest pieces of feedback we get from our guests right golfers agents families they they don't get a chance to go to a city and experience a city and for those of you that have been i mean it is electric everyone's staying downtown the guys you know the players are staying downtown at the shinola the casinos whatever it might be every restaurant is packed and they just love being part of the city and feeling the fabric of it and seeing all the greatness that's happening in downtown Detroit starting with a lot of those things that you talked about between the Grand Prix movement you know what's happening at the ballparks and you know certainly what's happening I just found out that there's a Tigers game tonight with this

02:07:27 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 2:

yeah 610 traffic may be bad it just might be so Casey am I right on this uh the Tony Finau thing I don't know what the name of the thing was but I watched it uh with my son my son's a huge golf fanatic Tony Finau was featured on that special full swing full swing it was amazing if you guys haven't watched it you're not a golf Shannon I know you're not you know necessarily a golf fan although you do think golfers are hot don't you truth it goes it shows their behind the scenes stuff of what these guys go through in this guy that won it last year is like this family guy Very sweet. You couldn't ask for, like, a nicer guy to win. And, honestly, I started getting the feeling that people on the PGA root against these guys because all the rest of them are all bad boys, right? Aren't they all kind of a little bit?

02:08:17 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, listen, you know, they all look good in their shorts and pants. You know, they all fit. And, you know, a guy like Tony Fina, who was our champion in last year's Rocket Mortgage Classic, you're exactly right. I mean, that full swing, which was episode six, by the way, that featured the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Oh, it was all Detroit. He is who he is. He was a great family guy, great pillar in the community. We just had him, you know, at our media day this past week. And all those guys that play on the PGA Tour, you know, they are professionals and they have an amazing athletic ability. But they also help us do a lot of great work in the community and continuing to build the legacy that we want to have. Not only, you know, putting on a great event in the city of Detroit, but helping our community and bridging the digital divide. How much money did he make?

02:08:58 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 2:

What was the exact check that you guys had to write to him as a winner of this thing?

02:09:02 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so before taxes, it was $1.2, $1.3 million.

02:09:07 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 2:

And it was so cool to see this guy who was like a family guy who just had babies. He's got like a million kids.

02:09:11 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

He's got five kids, and they travel with him. And that great scene in Full Swing is the plane touched down, and he lives in Utah late in the middle of the night. And he said he had over 75 family members greet. He walks off the plane, probably a PJ, and he's holding the Rocket Mortgage Classic trophy in his hand. And he has a Polynesian descent background and family. And everyone's dressed in the traditional garb. And he comes off and he starts dancing with the trophy. Oh, so cool. What a cool moment. That's like a social media dream come true. It's not staged. It's not scripted. It's just an authentic moment of a guy celebrating a great accomplishment with his friends and family that have supported him through ups and downs in his career. And he's a guy that was always finishing second. And he was starting to get that reputation of, like, good. guys finish second they don't always finish first and he won the week before 3m he could have really quite honestly canceled on us but he was committed to coming to detroit guys don't win back to back on the pga tour is so emotionally and physically draining he went back to back and you know he he told us the other day he goes really the win in detroit you know put me on another propelled them

02:10:19 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 3:

to be one of the best golfers around and i so i'm reading here it says uh that you got a bunch of good golfers that are coming this year what names do we have uh on the list we talked about tony

02:10:29 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 1:

Finau, we got Ricky Fowler, Colin Markawa, who's a major champion, and we just announced two days ago, world number 15, been PGA Tour player of the year, who's won majors, Justin Thomas. Oh, my God.

02:10:40 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 3:

My son, by the way, so my son bought the putter that Justin Thomas uses, and he's a high school golfer, and he had his best round of golf finish first in his regionals on his team because of that putter, he says.

02:10:53 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'll tell you what, when we, you and I, we'll talk to JT, and we'll give him full credit for your son's low round. Oh, my God. You make me look like a star. We'll give you a selfie with him to make your son jealous.

02:11:03 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 3:

So they raise a bunch of money, like Casey was mentioning, raise a bunch of money for the kids in the city of Detroit and then for obviously the residents of the city of Detroit. The whole digital divide thing is a true deal. I mean, the fact that just a matter of a couple of years ago before the Rocket Mortgage Classic really was putting a ton of money towards this. I mean, you go in the city of Detroit, you couldn't get online anywhere, right?

02:11:27 - 02:12:34 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it was, I'll tell you what, when the pandemic happened, the issue of having digital access was there. And then when our school children went from schools to being home, it shined that spotlight on the fact that over 60% of Detroit residents in 2020 didn't have access to the internet, right? It was already there. But when school kids went home and they didn't have hardware of access, and you think about also people that were in job searches, right? And then the world that we live in now today of telemedicine. Five years ago, you wouldn't even, you know, I don't even know what that is, now it's so commonplace. And think about how that affects everyone from 5 to 85 and not having access to the internet. And we're really proud that we saw that as an opportunity to use the Rocket Mortgage Classic as a platform to help address the digital divide. And we're really proud through a lot of the work that we've done, not only the Rocket Mortgage Classic, but through all the other work with Rocket Companies and the Giving Fund and Dan's leadership. It's gone from 40 to 70% inclusivity. So 70% of our Detroit residents now have that access to internet hardware, digital literacy, but there's still a long ways to go. A lot has been done, but we've got a long way to go. And the Rocket Mortgage Classic is that platform to help. Your next

02:12:34 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 3:

objective is Waterford because we need a little bit of help out there too. We'll help the digital divide out by where I live. But real quick, I wanted to mention this, rocketmortgageclassic.com. If you want to get tickets, it's worth going to. I will tell you that the thing is fun. I know that they have that phoenix open or whatever it is the waste management open times yeah i think that this thing maybe not that over the top as far as people getting crazy but people have fun people go down and buy tickets to go to this thing shannon i know you always look for a good place just to

02:13:18 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 3:

02:13:30 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 1:

the 20 uh the 28th but the day before the 27th and 28th um is our detroit community days free for everybody so great opportunity to bring kids and family in and on the 27th we also do our area 313 classic and so that's uh we have a bunch of players like ricky colin tony and then we have celebrities right you know barry calvin izzo c webb dylan larkin and oh by the way uh kev knows the miz right we call them we got the miz from wwe because oh by the way summer slam's going to be here in a month and so he's going to be here promoting that and oh cool that's free do wrestlers

02:14:03 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 3:

golf are they this is good really yeah he's he's pumped okay so i uh i got invited by my very good friend craig myers over here craig is uh is in the financial world look at that suit i mean come on

02:14:16 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 1:

That's a financial guy.

02:14:17 - 02:14:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell you, he invited me to play in the Pro-Am because he's one of, you're one of the sponsors or what do you do? You buy in? I just bought in the Pro-Am. You bought into the Pro-Am. So he asked me if I would golf with him. Is that the dumbest thing you could ever, would you trust this guy to manage your money if he's inviting me to go? He's got good hair.

02:14:32 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

He's got good hair. I always put my money with people with good hair.

02:14:35 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Come here real quick. Let me explain real quick what he's doing. So he always donates. He's donated tens of thousands of dollars to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish over the years. So he said he's not going to just write me a check this year.

02:14:47 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

He's making me earn it because you said you're going to pay me for $1,000 for every par, $2,000 for every birdie. Whoa. I don't know what that means, but yes. No, no. Ready for this? Go, go.

02:15:00 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 3:

No, I am a 23-and-a-half handicap. Your money is safe.

02:15:04 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 4:

I'm giving you the handicap. What? No. I'm a 23-and-a-half handicap. Casey, I'm helping feed families with breaking and entering Christmas wish. No, I just hope he doesn't squirt on anyone.

02:15:17 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 3:

Wait, hold on a second. You can't say that on the radio. Listen, I promise you this. I am going to come ready to play. I'm having – You can't wait. I'm getting some training, some special training. I'm going to try to find somebody that knows golf. Does anybody know anybody who knows golf?

02:15:30 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 2:

No, but I'm so interested in your outfit.

02:15:32 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 3:

I already have it. I'm sponsored by, what's the Detroit company? Grayson. I, by the way, have my Grayson shirt from last year. I went down there to buy that shirt when I saw everybody wearing it, though. The 313? 313. Do they do a special shirt again?

02:15:47 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 1:

They are, yeah. Charlie Schaefer, and he's from Detroit, and the founder of Grayson. I just was with him the other day at the Grand Prix, and they got a bunch of really cool 313 gear they're going to be rolling out during the Rock and Mortars Classic.

02:15:58 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 3:

So, I will tell you that if you really want to have fun, if you want to see some really cool golf, and if you just want to go out and help out great causes, the Rocket Mortgage Classic, the 27th through the 2nd, go to RocketMortgageClassic.com for anything that we talked about today. I also neglected to mention it. By the way, it's Pride all this weekend. Matter of fact, Megan is going to be out at Pride. Right, Megan?

02:16:21 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I am. I'm actually going to be out there with Sean Sarfitts in downtown.

02:16:25 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:16:26 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm so glad you prepped me for this. Thank you so much.

02:16:27 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 3:

No, that's okay. We'll talk about it in a second. I'll tell you exactly where Megan's going to be. But I neglected to mention that, which this is Pride Month, but it also is such a big deal here for the Mojo in the Morning Show. But that's another big event that's going on. There's so much stuff in this city.

02:16:41 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 2:

So much stuff.

02:16:42 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 3:

I remember when Detroit, you only went down for a Red Wings game, and honestly, you raced into town and you raced out of town. That's how people acted back in the day. Now you obviously live in the city of Detroit, but then you see events, and you're right, that are taking place in the city of Detroit. Forget the idea of having everything in the suburbs. Casey, thank you. We appreciate you so much. I saw Dan on TV yesterday.

02:17:10 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 1:

The book tower opening. It is stunning. Please come down and see it.

02:17:14 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

He looks great, too, by the way. I know that he's been faced with some health issues, but I will say this to you. That man can command a room, and I watched on TV last night Devin Skillian play a clip from him. And I'm like, the man inspires me so much. And I know he's been faced with a lot, you know, with the loss of his son recently. And he's an awesome guy. So thank you for what you guys all do. And we appreciate you so much.

02:17:36 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much. And I cannot wait to see you tee it up at the Pro-Am.

02:17:40 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 3:

Do I get a mulligan on the first one? You get a breakfast ball. Okay, cool. All right, we'll be right back. Don't go anywhere. Megan out in Detroit this weekend for Pride. Obviously, we're going to be at the Taylor Swift concert. But I want to plug that. And then Mike out in West Michigan with his meat. What's going on, Megan Pride? You got all the details?

02:18:02 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Motor City Pride Festival is this weekend in downtown Detroit. We're going to be in Hart Plaza. We got live performances, food, drink vendors, drag shows, so much more. The parade on Sunday kicks off at noon. And I'm going to be hosting the live stream for that as well. So if you want to see me fumble and stumble, you can catch me there. But I'd love to see you in person, especially if you're coming out for Taylor Night 2. Maybe you're staying the night. Come out downtown Detroit. We're going to be in Hart Plaza for Motor City Pride. Happy Pride Month.

02:18:33 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And Mike, Mike, your meat is out this weekend. What's going on?

02:18:37 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 5:

In Muskegon, I'll be at the Lakes Crossings right outside of Party City from 11 to 2 in Muskegon with a chance to win Tigers tickets. But first, before I sling my meat, I feel like we should say happy birthday. No, I was kind of hoping that you'd go longer.

02:19:02 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 3:

02:19:03 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 5:
