00:03:46 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

good morning and welcome to the mojo the morning show happy monday it's good to have you guys here listening let's go around the room and just say hi to everybody good morning shannon well good morning. Good morning Megan. Good morning. Good morning to you Michael. Good morning. Good morning Kev. Good morning. Good morning KP. Good morning. Good morning Lydia. Good morning. Good morning to Misfit Steve. And good morning from me Mojo. It's good to have you guys listening to the show. We had such an amazing weekend. I mean, I will say this. Last week was just unreal. I have never in the history of doing this radio show have ever witnessed what I witnessed this past weekend. And, of course, last week. And it comes with numbers to prove it. Last week's Mojo in the Morning shows in Detroit Grand Rapids.

00:05:00 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

in Toledo and of course on the iHeartRadio app were the most listened to Mojo in the morning shows in the history of this radio program. Is that amazing? That's crazy to believe. Thank you, Taylor. We love you. By the way, Friday morning show, this just shows you guys just the extent of how people wanted these tickets. Friday morning show was the most streamed event on the iHeartRadio app Friday. There were more people streaming Mojo in the morning on the iHeartRadio app trying to get their last minute Taylor Swift tickets than ever. And that was Friday morning. And you know what's wild is that if you looked at it we had the amount of people like listening to the show throughout the entire show which was unreal to think that you think that people, you know, they got to go to work and stuff, right? They got to go to school or whatever the deal might be. But everybody was trying to win those tickets. So, and it was cool. The weekend was amazing. Guys, you guys did an amazing job. It was so much fun to hang with you guys at Taylor Swift. How wild was that? Like, talk about an experience.

00:06:17 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

It was so crazy. I kept saying the outfits, but the amount of time and creativity people put into what they were wearing to the show was amazing. And also the dedication of Swifties who didn't have tickets, but still came down to either get merch or just hang out with other Swifties or try to get tickets or whatever it was. But I feel like I met almost just as many people who were not going into Ford Field, but were there just for the vibe.

00:06:44 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 1:

And also hoping to get tickets. Just praying, going up to somebody and be like, hey, do you have a spare?

00:06:49 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

I will come with you. I met a guy when we did the ticket giveaway on Friday where you dug through the treasure box and tried to find the correct pick. He comes up to me. This is 10 minutes after we've wrapped. He's like, are you guys still giving tickets? I'm like, I'm sorry, sir. He's like, I drove an hour and a half trying to find tickets. It was that crazy out there.

00:07:09 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, the craziest was not just the amount of people that were down there, because it was a bigger crowd than I've ever seen for a Red Wings or a Pistons parade. I've never, like, in the times that I've done, you know, radio here in Detroit and have been, you know, broadcasting, I would say that I've seen some big events. The Super Bowl, the World Series, the parades. The parades always have the most amount of people and the fireworks, you know, that we always do the the big fireworks right on the, you know, the U.S. and Canada border there. I've never seen so many people downtown Friday and Saturday night. I've like I'm telling you guys, it was if you think that they could fit 60,000 people in Ford Field, you're talking at least 60,000 people just walking the streets.

00:08:01 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Well, there was so many things going on both days. I mean, between Tiger's Games and other concerts. And Pride. The film war. Yeah, and Pride was happening. Yeah. And everyone was happy.

00:08:13 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:14 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was smiling. It was so positive. It was the love in the streets.

00:08:18 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

It was really cool. We had such a great time giving you an opportunity to win these tickets, and we gave away so many tickets. And thank you, by the way. We truly have to thank Taylor's label and then all the opening acts labels for giving us a bunch of tickets to give away because it's very rare that they need to give away tickets for a show like this. They don't need to give tickets away. They could sell them, right? They sold so many of them.

00:08:44 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 3:

I can't give it all alone, so why can't you see you belong with me?

00:08:52 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way, my date with Megan, I'll have to recap that for you guys She went home with somebody else I was very disappointed about that

00:09:06 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

On his birthday

00:09:08 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Yes, can you believe that thing?

00:09:10 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what he's talking about

00:09:12 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, I do want you to know this I was trying to hold her hand all night And then KP sent me a video from when we were walking the concourse and it shows me denying her hand-holding. I wasn't denying your hand-holding. I was looking for food for all of us. I was trying to see if there was anything there that we could actually eat at the time. And can I also throw this out there? can somebody please do me a favor if you ever see me with my zipper down taking pictures with children will somebody tell me that i have my zipper down

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 3:

When did you have your zipper down? My zipper was down at the tent broadcast. When we were broadcasting at the tent, we were all taking pictures with thousands upon thousands of people that were stopping by.

00:10:11 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm not looking at your crotch. Yeah, that's not where my focus is either.

00:10:15 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 3:

I understand, but if somebody does see that. By the way, if you had taken a picture with us at any point this weekend, look and see if my zipper is up or down. And if it is down, will you do me a favor? Delete that picture Now that I think about it I think I did remember hearing a small child say Mommy what's that I will say this to you That that is one of those things That you never know what to do And you'll have to tell us if you're the type of person That will actually say something to somebody But if you see somebody with a booger on their face I'm that guy If you see somebody with food and their beard If you see somebody with zipper down Or a nipple hanging out Stuff like that Like, you got to go say something to the person. I'm usually that guy. I just didn't have crotch eyes. Crotch eyes. And then the worst was I'm sitting there talking to a family with a whole bunch of kids, which, by the way, the kid, these kids, the moms, you guys are unbelievable. What you did, and I saw this, by the way, with Mike putting makeup on Cecily and then Shannon with on Saturday night seeing Lucy with her hair done and everything. It was unbelievable. You moms went over the top, which was amazing for your daughters to have this experience, you know, going to the show. But I'm standing in front of this family that has, like, their kids all there. And my zipper's down. And I'm like, oh, crap. And I'm like, so, and I had to put it up. But, yeah. By the way, how was the experience for all the kids? How did Lucy and Cecily, like, go into the show?

00:11:48 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 2:

Luce said it was the best night of her whole entire life. She, but, man, she got home. They left a little bit early. She was with a family who took a little group of girls. And they got home at about 11.30. She walked through the door and literally just laid down on the floor and fell asleep. She was so tired. She was still tired yesterday. But she had so much fun. And they were sending me videos all night. And it just like my heart wanted to explode. She was so happy. She loved it.

00:12:19 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Mike, I witnessed Cecily. I think that she was unbelievable First off, she stood up on her chair And she, like Taylor Didn't take a three hour break

00:12:30 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 4:

No, yeah It was one of the coolest things To witness The first experience of a concert Through the eyes of her And it was cool that you guys were there And enjoying it along with her You weren't just standing there and just watching You were singing with her So that was very cool And selfishly It's probably one of the coolest things I'll ever do working in this business ever in the history of that was for sure i got to take her to the concert she came into the studio at the same like i could quit right now and be just fine and just happy

00:12:59 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 3:

friday morning when that video that uh kp posted of her in the in the studio and just how funny she is i mean she is truly oh this is actually the close your eyes this is you doing this is you doing her makeup which was awesome on on-air mike you can go check this out oh yeah glittered

00:13:19 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 4:

up when I'm done. Yeah. Because it was like the last bit of innocence, you know? Now it's time to start growing up a little.

00:13:27 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

Don't say that. You still got time. Just for the weekend. Just for the weekend. The picture of you guys together that I took, I want money for it because it might be the greatest photo I've ever taken

00:13:39 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 1:

in my life. Yeah, I was very proud you knew how to use portrait mode. Listen,

00:13:43 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

portrait mode is the greatest mode ever

00:13:45 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 1:

on a camera. You did. You took some great pictures.

00:13:48 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 3:

I took pictures of them The candid ones of them dancing

00:13:53 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

You did great on social Until you posted a video during You Belong With Me and you titled it You Belong To Me I know I screwed it up You were in the moment

00:14:03 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 3:

I was trying Shannon you actually sent your daughter To the concert but did not go to the concert But you actually went to a funeral Is that right?

00:14:14 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I feel like even if you didn't go to the taylor swift concert this weekend like the whole town it was just taylor swift taylor swift mania and i did not go to the show but i was obviously down there you know broadcasting and i was helping loose get ready for the show i feel like i was covered in like rhinestones and pearls and sparkles all weekend i did go to the to a memorial service for my best friend's grandma uh who essentially was it was like my grandma because i've known her since i was in kindergarten and people kept asking me at the funeral why do you have sparkles all over you why do you have little pearls all over you i'm like oh my god it's like i like jazzed it up for this funeral and i didn't it was just like all the taylor swift crap yeah from getting everybody ready including myself i had

00:15:00 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 1:

glitter everywhere and Megan was so sweet and gave Lucy like the pearls that she had in her hair so I had to put them in Lucy's hair on Saturday and I had little ones of those stuck to my clothes and so people are like giving me a hug everybody's crying and my girlfriend Kelly like picks a pearl out of the bottom of my hair and she's like why you got pearls in your hair she had but by the

00:15:20 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

way you can't do like a couple things like that was the other thing too like people that went downtown to go to Taylor Swift concert and then they're thinking to themselves well I'm gonna try to do dinner too and you go to dinner and you're dressed up in your taylor swift outfit and you feel like weird especially if especially if you're like you're going to dinner in the suburbs way far away from ford field right and you're walking in and you're like hey guys we're here people are looking at you like oh why are they dressed like this why are they looking like that it was wild to see people that actually decided that they were going to go to the tigers game which was going on at the same time which there was nobody in the tigers game like no america park looked like it was empty uh but there were people that said they were going to try to do both because they went down so early and they said oh you know what i'll go down for an hour or so because you could get tickets like you know pretty easily and people that were they showed on television dressed up in taylor's yes or the game yeah um it was fun so if you want to go check out pictures and uh and everything actually uh kp is going to post today all the celebrities that were there and shannon's going to talk about that in the dirty but uh there was a bunch that were hanging out at taylor swift that matter of fact you everybody heard about the flame of flame but uh there's more that were there and they had those little uh tents that they had on the floor where they sat i don't know if you noticed it at all when you were at the uh the concert but they had like these little tents where celebrities could kind of sit there right next to the stage and not be bothered. What's up, Brianna? Hi.

00:16:49 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 3:

I was at the Taylor Swift concert this weekend, too, and I woke up this morning self-pulling jewels out of my hair as well.

00:16:58 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 5:

I was like, I'm going into an office shop with glitter all over still.

00:17:06 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 4:

It takes a few days, doesn't it, to kind of get everything out of the hair and off your face and everything?

00:17:12 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 5:

It really does. It's not easy to come off.

00:17:15 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 4:

by the way here's the big question of the day that we're gonna answer and I don't know let me see what the time is seven o'clock hour probably and probably within the next hour or hour and 20 minutes did Taylor Swift's concert turn Megan into a Swifty Brianna Megan was you know at the show went to the concert but did it actually turn her into now a Swifty because we all know that Megan has not been a Swifty ever. Matter of fact, I will say this, Megan, what would you call somebody that's not a Swifty?

00:17:53 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 1:

The anti-hero?

00:17:54 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh! I love that! Oh my God! That was good.

00:17:59 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 1:

We know you're delicate this morning because you're transitioning from anti-hero to a Swifty.

00:18:10 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 5:

We started playing a little music together and realized right away, this is where we're meant to be. And Lizzo had the big song.

00:18:56 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 4:

All three happened in the same year. What year was it? You'll be going to Cedar Point. Good luck.

00:19:17 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 4:

All right, all happened in the same year. If you know it, we'll set you up with the prize. It was the year that the Grammys ended up cutting Drake's speech a little short because it was going long.

00:19:26 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

If there's people who have regular jobs who are coming out in the rain, in the snow, spending their hard-earned money to buy tickets to come to your shows, you don't need this right here. I promise you. You already won.

00:19:37 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 4:

The Jonas Brothers got back together as a band in this year.

00:19:40 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

We started to realize there was magic that we felt like we were missing. And, you know, so the process was basically just, why don't we give this another shot? We started playing a little music together and realized right away, this is where we're meant to be in our lives at this moment. And the big song was from Lizzo. What year was that? Jennifer, what year was that?

00:20:37 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 1:

One and done on the dating, eh? Why no second date? Second date update happens at 820. On Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:20:47 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on 30?

00:20:49 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're going to be talking about Taylor Swift being in town all day today and recapping that for you. But I do want to make mention of this. She made a really, really big donation to the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan while making her stops at Ford Field over the weekend. And she's done something like this at each of her stops on the Eras Tour so far. Gleaners is a great organization. They really are. And they announced the donation on Facebook sharing a quote from Taylor herself that reads, no matter what happens in life, be good to people. And Gleaners writes, these words ring true today with Taylor's surprise donation to Gleaners during her Eras Tour stop in Detroit. Thank you for making an impact and empowering kids and families with nutritious food. No, I don't know exactly how much she donated, but a rep for Gleaners telling me the amount was generous. I'm sure it was a pretty hefty donation. Donald Trump thought he could use Matt Damon's voice to help raise money for his campaign. But Matt and his good buddy Ben Affleck are not happy about it. The former president releasing a fundraising video over the weekend on his Truth Social, which centered around a monologue from Matt's character in the movie Air.

00:22:03 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to look you in the eyes and I'm going to tell you the future. It's an American story and that's why Americans are going to love it. Everyone will be forgotten.

00:22:13 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 3:

So Trump didn't have permission to use this audio. and artist equity the company co-founded by matt and ben that produced air released a statement essentially saying they had no foreknowledge of did not consent to and do not endorse or approve any footage or audio from air being repurposed by the trump campaign so they want them to stop using that immediately real quick the vegas golden knights outlasted the ford panthers three to two saturday night in game four of the stanley cup finals with the win vegas secured a three to series lead and will now have a chance to win its first stanley cup tomorrow night wow at home

00:22:51 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 2:

bad news for florida though right huh because you got the golden knights that are about to win maybe the stanley cup and then you got the denver nuggets about to beat the miami heat uh which it's tough coming back from three games to one but this has been one of those years where people will end up making it more of a you know series i don't know uh but uh i've been watching by the way the nba finals this year and i have never watched the nba finals this much since oh five when the pistons won really i and i don't know what it is these games have been so great even when they're like a blowout like saturday night's game was yeah uh britney spears shutting down a

00:23:31 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 3:

daily mail story that claimed her family feared she was on crystal meth i know a couple of the tabloids printed this story as well the sun one of them but the daily mail was the one that started it, quote-unquote. Brittany addressing the allegations on Instagram, writing, the fact that people are claiming things that are not true is so sad. This may not even be them saying such things because it doesn't make any sense to me for them to be saying that. And while she didn't go into specifics about the allegations, again, Crystal, not a big piece of this, she did reference a quote from the Daily Mail's report in which her son, Sean Preston, supposedly gave them this quote that said, I hope she'll listen to us before it's too late. So Brittany continues, it makes me sad because I tried so hard to make things nice for you. It was never enough. So you guys go behind my back and talk about me. It breaks my heart. And the news is so low, by the way. Now, hours before Brittany released that message on her Instagram, her ex, Kevin Federline, also came forward to suggest that the Daily Mail's report could not have been further from the truth. He called him right out and he said he only speaks with love and compassion with Brittany while discussing, excuse me, Brittany and her family and also shot down those rumors that she is using crystal meth. And lastly, according to a new survey, 52% of Americans grew up sleeping with a blankie or a stuffed animal. 40% admit they still do, even though they're all grown up and even though they're sharing a bed with their partner. The survey also looked into the sleeping and nighttime habits of couples and found some of the top sleep disruptors include when their partner steals the covers, wakes them up tossing and turning, sleeps with the TV on, snores, or sleeps with the light on. Nearly half of those surveys say they sleep in a separate bed or bedroom just to get some better sleep. Do you remember when you guys gave me all that crap for still having mine?

00:25:32 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:25:32 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I remember too.

00:25:34 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 1:

That just means that there's a lot of people that do it just like you.

00:25:38 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Is yours a blankie or a stuffed animal, Megan? It's a blankie that I put into a Build-A-Bear when it was like disintegrating. Oh, okay.

00:25:44 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys have like a special stuffed animal or blankie or something?

00:25:49 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I had a pink pillowcase that I still have, but I don't.

00:25:50 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 2:

I had a Simba plushie, and then my grandfather had like this crocheted cross, and I used to like hold it every night. I don't want to sleep with it.

00:25:59 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

Now we can't make fun of you because it was a cross.

00:26:02 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait. I believe you made fun of me ruthlessly.

00:26:06 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 1:

I know, but his was a cross, though, and I don't want Jesus to, like, strike me dead or something. That's what's going to do it. That's the line? Listen, I have a line here, and if I'm sitting down in the air and all of a sudden, yeah.

00:26:18 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 3:

5 at 6.55, yo. 5 at 6.55, yo.

00:26:36 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to do the 5 at 6.55, but a special edition. It's called Smarter Than Shannon. This is how it all started. This is back when we started this contest where Shannon would take on a listener every single day, and then we kept score, and it got to be so boring because Shannon, of course, had to win every single time. The final tallies were like literally like 2,000-something to like maybe four. I don't know. Something like that.

00:27:06 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 3:

I love that every time you say this, it changes. And it makes me feel really good. But it was big. Because I lost more than that. But thank you.

00:27:13 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 1:

Not a lot. You did not lose a lot. But here's the deal. Carrie, if you win 15, you go into our Tournament of Champions. You are in there. Then you take on Shannon. Smarter than Shannon. We got the questions all set up. Yes? Okay. There is a rapper question. Yes. Gosh darn it. There is a sports question. Ooh. So I just want to.

00:27:33 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Gosh darn it.

00:27:34 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 1:

I want everybody to know that.

00:27:35 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, remember her, she doesn't like Royals questions.

00:27:38 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know, I should have done that. God, I didn't. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm a little biased.

00:27:42 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 2:

I studied my Royals. I was like, I'm going to ask you a Royals question. So let me look up some history books.

00:27:46 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 1:

I did not put a Royals question in there. I should have done that. I'm sorry, Shannon. I'm a little biased here. I like Carrie. All right, here's the story. Megan, you got to keep score. Carrie, please ask Shannon to leave the studio so I can ask you the questions first.

00:28:01 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, may you please leave the studio so Mojo can ask me the questions first. Oh, that's too nice. Good luck, Carrie.

00:28:06 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 1:

People usually say, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

00:28:11 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 2:

I've been rooting for Carrie. Carrie, I've been rooting for you every single week. I've rooted for you every single week. That ends right now. I've got to go with my girl, Shannon. Wow.

00:28:21 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:28:21 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay, okay.

00:28:22 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 1:

Megan, she's putting her headphones on. She's got her headphones on. Go ahead, Megan. Carrie, I think you're going to be very disappointed in your score of five out of five. Oh, God. Yes. I'm going to pull up. Five out of five. Shannon, you must be perfect in order to win, or you will have lost two in a row to a listener. Dickhead. All right. Question number one. Okay. Taylor Swift performed to more than 120,000 fans this weekend in Detroit at Ford Field. Yep. Which is not a Taylor X? A, Jake Gyllenhaal, B, Calvin Harris, or C, Nick Jonas? B. B? Oh, wait. C. Sorry. I will accept. C. I will accept. C. I will accept. She switched it. It was within three seconds. I said B. All right. All right. One was controversy already. One was. Question number two. Former President Donald Trump was indicted on Friday on 37 counts related to classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago. What city will Trump be appearing in front of a judge in tomorrow? uh three seconds miami yes that was a guess that was a good question number three milkshake singer calice has been responding to fans in her dms about rumors that she's dating this 72 year old actor comedian bill murray yes question number four the rapper question by the way the last two questions last two questions rapper question and sports question question number four all right here taylor swift's song karma has skyrocketed up the billboard charts after she remixed it with rapper ice spice yes what is ice spice's real first name isis yes by the way that might be the only time you'll ever hear somebody excitedly screaming out isis unless they're freaked out about, let's all get out of here. Question number five. It comes down to this one here. Are you ready? No. Shannon, if you missed this question, Kerry has just beaten you in Smarter Than Shannon. Get it right, you win with a tie and a controversy over that first question. Question number five. The Denver Nuggets are up three games to one in the NBA Finals to the Miami Heat. Yes. True or false? If they win this, it will be their first championship in franchise history. True. Correct answer. Shannon has tied, tied, tied. But there's a controversy.

00:33:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a controversy. There's a controversy because, Megan, you seem to believe that Shannon first said B and then changed it to C. I mean, don't pull me into this. I was just kidding. I don't know. I mean, listen, we would have let a listener do that. We would have let a listener change this thing. That's true. That's very true. I don't know. I don't know. But I will say this to you, Carrie. Should we leave it at a tie instead of I win? Well, no. That's because tie goes to the champion, and that's you. I'm sorry. We don't change rules just because we want to make everybody feel, you know, nice. We just go with controversies. So here's the deal. I don't like controversies. Here's the deal. If you see Shannon out and about today, you tell Shannon. If you see her out today, why don't we ask the listeners? Let's ask the listeners. Call us up right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500. I could also do, by the way, I could also do one last question, and the first of you guys to scream out your names will be the person that ends up doing it. And it will be a Royals question. What a competition, though. It was a great competition. Shout out to Carrie holding it down every single week. Five for five from the line to finish it off. Look at these texters that are coming in here right now. You guys are very mean to Shannon. I can't believe that you guys would do this. Listen to this. I've been listening for many, many years. I want to say as much as I love you, Shannon, you lost. You missed that first question. 734. Well, we are allowed to change answers within the three seconds for Throwback Throwdown and for this. 734 says. I would have arranged answers if he didn't go B. Yeah. 734 says Mojo cheated. Mojo cheated. It's obvious he wants Shannon to win. Daniela, what are your thoughts? I'm sorry. I didn't have your phone up. What's that?

00:35:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Danielle?

00:35:01 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Hi. I love Shannon so much, Moyo, but when she said B, there was a pause. And I'm pretty sure that you gave with your language, your body language, and what you said, Shannon realized she was wrong.

00:35:16 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 2:

Just so you know, I have a very big body, so the language.

00:35:20 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. You were surprised.

00:35:24 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You know when you red flag it in the NFL when you challenge to play? I have to hear the audio again to fully, to say whether or not she changed it because of that. Oh, man.

00:35:33 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 2:

He's calling for instant replay? I don't know. Need a review? I'll have, I don't know. We'll have to go under the hood. Is that what you're saying? What's going on? Graham, are you there? Yeah. Hi. How are you? Good. What do you think, Graham? Did Shannon cheat on this one here, or did she lose?

00:35:49 - 00:35:59 | Speaker 1:

Don't say Shannon cheat. Yeah? Mojo, when you said, be. By the way, he does it if a question is right, too.

00:35:59 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on a second. Let me listen. Let me listen if I can find this thing. Hold on a second. I can see it. If they win this world, this world. Hold on.

00:36:13 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. All the fans this weekend.

00:36:15 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 1:

Carrie, I think you're going to be very disappointed.

00:36:18 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 2:

Fans this weekend in Detroit at Ford Field. All right, here we go. Here's the question. Which is not a Taylor X? A, Jake Gyllenhaal, B, Calvin Harris, or C, Nick Jonas?

00:36:30 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 3:

B.

00:36:31 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 2:

B?

00:36:32 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait, C. Sorry.

00:36:33 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 2:

Hmm.

00:36:36 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:36:38 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm joking. That was bad. That was bad. The deal is overturned.

00:36:47 - 00:36:48 | Unknown:

She's going to be lost.

00:36:49 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 2:

All right, all right. Hold on a second. Hold on a second. I'm going to have to side then. I'm siding with Graham and about 12,000 other listeners on this one. And I'm just going to call it an equal tie. And we'll let both of these guys be winners. Congratulations.

00:37:07 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 1:

Good job, Carrie. All right. All right.

00:37:09 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm very happy with that. All right. Congratulations. Carrie, you were fantastic. We're going to give you a whole slew of prizes. Shannon, I apologize to you for causing controversy. I really didn't mean it.

00:37:21 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

after further review of the play the ruling on the field stands the other morning shows still suck this is mojo in the morning mojo in the morning show i'd like to thank everybody that

00:37:35 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

it was kind enough to uh you know wish me a happy birthday between friday and sunday uh and uh love to say thank you to my wife chelsea it was such a great birthday you know capping off like what was like the greatest week ever and then being able to spend time with the family was incredible um we really had a good time went out for uh brunch yesterday and then we went out for dinner at night so we ate our faces off which was fun that's like the greatest birthday ever and uh last night's dinner got a little weird so thank god that my 18 year old son is like actually still loves me because he wanted to be with you know chelis and i for both of the celebrations in the morning and in the evening, but I think he may be done with us after what happened last night. So we went out with some friends for my birthday. We went out with our neighbors, John and Britt and their daughter, Brooke. And Luke was sitting next to Brittany and Chelsea and overheard a conversation that will literally require him to have therapy like his other two brothers. And the conversation was, Brittany saying to Chelsea so what is it that Tom wanted Tom is my real name and Chelsea said well all he's ever wanted the last couple of years was a Hummer and I haven't given it to him and he always sits there and tells me about how he never gets it and he wants to know why it is because this is all a request and tonight I'm going to do it for the very first time And Luke, my 18-year-old, is listening to this whole thing. And any person that has ever, like, known what your parents are like, you never want to think about your parents, honestly, even hugging each other, right? Well, he continues to keep listening for a couple of more minutes and gets to a point where I could see him almost irritable at the table. And he looks back over at me at one point and says, what are you and mom doing after this because he's going to because he's going to a grad party and I said well what do you think we're going to do which is always my response even if we're not going to do it you know even if it's not we're going to make him uncomfortable because to be perfectly honest with you I knew what I was doing and I knew what Chelsea was doing we were going back home and we had a lot of stuff to do and I had I didn't even turn my prep

00:40:00 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 5:

into you guys yet you know that we normally do every single night just then the waitress at the restaurant carol comes out and says how many of you guys want hummers because chelsea had worked it out with them ahead of time that i did not want a cake for my birthday all i wanted was a hummer which is basically like a milkshake drink with alcohol in it all right and luke goes oh my God like he was about to throw up and then tells us the story about the fact that the entire time that he was sitting there listening to this conversation and then looking at those guys and my wife was literally smiling going I'm going to give it to him tonight all he kept thinking the whole time was oh my God my dad is getting something so I just want Luke to know this that that was just the drink okay everything was good I have to go on record to tell you this but We're going to go out for salads later today

00:40:59 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 4:

We're going to see who's going to be tossing that thing It's going to be such a great time

00:41:03 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I just want to throw this out there And I don't know if we'll get any good responses on this But I want you to call up And tell us about The time that you thought your parents were doing it And what it was that made you So grossed out about the whole thing And did you do anything Because then the conversation swayed at the table when Chelsea told the story about how Chelsea actually had to barrel down the door for her parents when her parents were fooling around at one point because they weren't answering her at one point when she was younger because she thought her parents were doing it. Have you guys ever caught your parents doing it?

00:41:44 - 00:41:44 | Unknown:

No, thank God.

00:41:45 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yes. Bulls jazz playoffs. I'll never forget. Really? Yes. I know. Didn't Jordan have his flu? during that one yep yep and my bedroom was in the basement and my parents bedroom was like right above it and i was sitting up late i wasn't supposed to be awake watching the game and then the noises started coming and i thought it was name calling at first it was not name calling they were just saying each other's names and it scarred me forever forever because you You could just hear it. Jordan wasn't the only one scoring.

00:42:24 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 5:

So you actually, did you turn the game up a little louder so that you didn't have to hear them at all, or what did you do?

00:42:30 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 4:

I wasn't supposed to be awake, so I had to make a choice. Like, the TV was muted. That's not like I was supposed to be in bed. And so I had to make a choice. I either watch and see if they're going to win this game, or I go to bed, and I had to just go to bed and hear about it the next day from my friends.

00:42:46 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 5:

And now, the starting lineup for Mike, Mom, and Dad having sex in the bedroom. Coming in at... Yeah. You want to know her? Just ended at coming in, right? Yeah, yeah. All right. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Jason? How you doing?

00:43:07 - 00:43:07 | Unknown:

How are you?

00:43:07 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Pretty good.

00:43:07 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on? Did you ever catch your parents doing it?

00:43:11 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 3:

So, no. It was when I was in elementary school, probably about fifth grade. I got called into the office by the counselor and asked if my parents were, you know, fighting and if there were issues in the household and knew nothing of it until I got home. And my mom, you know, you know, came home and she was like, Fran, what, you know, what the heck's wrong with you? You know, and apparently the school called her and called her up there and the police and everything. She told her that, you know, they were fighting and possibly getting hit or whatever, but none of that was going on. You know, it was dissolved.

00:43:42 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 5:

It was a little bit of fun in the bedroom What was going on, huh?

00:43:47 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's so embarrassing I knew, I don't know how my brother didn't know

00:43:51 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 5:

Why is it that When you're now an adult and you think back on it And you're like, ah, that was nice that my parents had a healthy Sex life, you know? No

00:44:00 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 2:

You don't want that

00:44:01 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 5:

What do you want? Do you want to come from a stork? Is that what you're hoping for at that time?

00:44:06 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 2:

No, it's just, I don't know, like, yes It's so funny because I feel like you You want your parents to have a good relationship, obviously, but it's not until they're, like, grandparents that you're like, oh, yeah, good for you, Grandma. But there's that period of, like, 30 years.

00:44:22 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 5:

Do you know what I mean? Don't ever talk about it.

00:44:24 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 2:

You don't want to think about your parents. Yeah.

00:44:25 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 5:

Karen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:44:27 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning. I came home. A group of friends in the house was going to spend the night at my best friend's, wanted to tell my parents. No one was, I was like, Mom, no one was answering. I opened their door, and my parents were totally getting it on, and I'm like, I'm going to spend the night at Linda's. And my dad's like, good, get the hell out of here.

00:44:44 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 5:

There is nothing more embarrassing, is it, than when you actually will either hear it or worse, walk in on it. That's the worst. What's up, Heather?

00:44:54 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:44:55 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi, what's going on?

00:44:57 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 1:

When we were younger, we were on a camping trip. we were in a pop-up and my parents in the middle of the night decided to have a little fun while we were still in the camper. Oh, no.

00:45:08 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 3:

In the same camper? Yeah, I don't know how you do that because the camper would move. The whole

00:45:12 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 1:

thing would start rocking. That's what woke me up. And the best part of it is that we had no wind, but they decided to have chimes outside the window.

00:45:23 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 4:

Soundtrack. Oh, my God. That's funny. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Bye. All right. Take care of yourself. I went to my first gender reveal over the weekend. Yeah, you did. And it was a big one because it was for Kevin, our new guy here, and Shirelle and their baby. And we got, do you guys, nobody on the show knows? No. I haven't told anyone. No. Because I know that Shirelle has actually posted on her social media. So when I saw that, I'm going, oh, I wonder if any of these guys follow Shirelle yet.

00:45:53 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, she invited me as a collaborator, but I said, I'm not going to accept it until you make the announcement.

00:45:58 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Kev, it was awesome. I got a chance to meet your entire family, including Kev's mom, who is amazing. Also, Sherelle's mom, who is awesome. And Kev's 92-year-old grandma.

00:46:13 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Grandma Ruth.

00:46:15 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 4:

Which is amazing. And they did something at the beginning of this before they actually did the unveiling and popped off these firework-type things to see if it was going to be blue or pink in there. They prayed over Sherelle And prayed over the baby I thought that was really unbelievable That was really kind of cool

00:46:35 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 2:

My guy Kyle, we met in the 9th grade He's one of my eldest friends Love that guy, he's like a brother He recently just got his masters at seminary school So he just graduated So Sherelle wanted to bring all of our family members Especially the grandparents Closer, connection with the ancestors And the spirit world And pray for not only our current family But the birth of this baby in the future And lead the baby in with prayer Because God is such a big part of our lives So that's how we started it

00:47:02 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Alright, moment of truth guys

00:47:04 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 2:

Alright, so For some reason I wanted to do like Maury Like in the case Let me get some Ryan Seacrest

00:47:13 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 4:

You are the father There we go You want Ryan Seacrest music? Alright, hold on a second, this is good Because this is like the true American idol This is the next big one What do you call your son, Josiah?

00:47:27 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

B-I-G? Big Joe?

00:47:29 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 4:

Biggest in the game? Biggest in the game.

00:47:30 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 2:

Biggest in the game.

00:47:31 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 4:

All right, here we go. Here we go. Moment of truth right now. All right, world.

00:47:38 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Sherelle. Kevin. I don't know why I'm speaking in third person. We are having a baby. Can you pass me the water, actually? No, stop. Come on.

00:47:51 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, you are Ryan Seacrest.

00:47:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 2:

we are having a baby girl

00:47:59 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 3:

we have been praying for a baby girl

00:48:15 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 2:

we've been asking god for a baby girl everybody that is coming to our lives I've been telling them put baby girl energy out there Yes, you have. And we popped those confetti things. It was pink, and it was the greatest moment of my life.

00:48:28 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Shirelle's reaction, which I sent KP the video, if you guys are cool, posting. Yes, please. The video was awesome, but Shirelle's reaction was the greatest because she was literally just tears just flowing down her face. And the other cool thing was Kev's son, Josiah, is the cutest kid in the world. He's such a good kid. And right before Chelsea and myself and our friend Jessica that was there with us Walk up to him and start talking to him And we're like, hey, are you excited? And he goes, I've been praying to God every single day that he brings me a sister So I really hope that he does bring me a sister Like he was so excited too Man, that's awesome, congratulations to you

00:49:12 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much, man On that Josiah, he literally was like I've been telling everybody at my school that it's going to be a baby girl This is before we made the announcement So it just feels like everything just worked Everything worked as it was supposed to We've been praying for this Now we gotta figure out baby names Mike, you gotta show me how to do makeup now Yeah, yeah

00:49:32 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 3:

Seriously, welcome to being a girl dad It's one of the greatest, most rewarding things in the entire world

00:49:39 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, on my mom's side of the family My mom has an older brother She's the youngest of the daughters I have a younger sister, I'm an older brother So I wanted that to continue, and I had my Joe, and now we got our baby girl.

00:49:51 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 4:

So if you guys don't have names, Mike and Allie, you guys probably have some leftovers.

00:49:56 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 2:

That guy named you can use.

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

I got one that I didn't use. You can have it.

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever say what?

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 5:

that name was, Mike? No, I didn't. You want me to say it? I didn't. Yeah, if you feel comfortable. What was the name of your granny?

00:50:05 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 4:

It was going to be Penelope. Wow. Yeah, yeah, because for a few different reasons. Actually, that's the same name that Megan wanted to use for her first little one, too, if she ended up having kids. Uh-oh. Now you just blew it for Mel.

00:50:18 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 3:

So that's the discussion now is what we're going to name the baby and where there's already fighting. So Sherelle wants the name to be Sherelle Jr. And I don't really want that. I want, and this may sound weird, but I don't care. It's my baby. I can do what I want. I want two letters. I want SJ, and it stands for Sherelle Jr. and Sherelle and Josiah. And I want the middle name to be like Wynn. I love. Or like Winnie or Wynn. You might ask my best girl friend's daughter. Sherelle also likes Pure, because everything is pure with Sherelle. So that's the controversy. We said we're going to shoot for it. We're going to go to Dave and Buster's. I know what you hate. Get some shots up. Whoever wins, wins.

00:50:57 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 5:

Wait. Like, so Sherelle wants Junior, and she's got a good reason behind this that she wants it, right? Why? What is her reasoning why she wants it? I really don't know. You don't know? Here's the thing.

00:51:07 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 3:

So our due date is Sherelle's birthday. Oh, wow. So that's like another layer to it.

00:51:11 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 1:

But isn't SJ the best of, like, couldn't you just, it's the best of both, right?

00:51:15 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 3:

That's another thing. I feel like, why do I have to give a baby a nickname if we can just name the baby SJ? Let's just do it.

00:51:22 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I will say this. We're going to come back in a little bit. We're going to talk more about this. We're going to let, you know, Sherelle sleep in a little bit because I want to get her on. But I'm thinking we talk to her about this, talk about the baby name. But then we also I want to tell you that I've never been to a gender reveal, but everybody I've been talking to about the gender reveals have all told me a similar type of a story. Have you ever heard of somebody screwing up the gender reveals and that the the whoever it was that was responsible for for holding on to what the answer was gave the wrong answer?

00:51:54 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 1:

Now I have been in the position of having the envelope And it is terrifying

00:51:59 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 5:

I would have been pissed So I believe you guys are having a girl Because I will tell you this If you don't have a girl That entire crowd is going to go crazy It would be like more controversial Than the 5 of 6.55 this morning But I will say this to you I will say this That our friend Jessica who is there Her and Will They had the wrong gender announced At their gender reveal Put it on social media everything and had to call up the doctor and find out that it was the wrong gender what's going on

00:52:28 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 2:

kim hey mojo hey what's going on first of all very very very long time listener first time caller yes kevin i just want to tell you you have really turned me into your biggest fan i love you so much and i literally started tearing up for you i am so happy for you and cherelle so congratulations welcome to the show i just i adore you so much and i'm so so happy for you kim i love you thank

00:53:10 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 5:

truly means a lot and it also honestly is awesome knowing the you know the lengths that you guys have gone to with Shirelle and her medical, you know, I will say this, that meeting your family and Shirelle's family and friends, great friends, it was incredible on, on Saturday night to, to be able to be there and be part of this. Wow. This Taylor Swift story about the guy from Indiana is crazy. Shannon has that for you in just a second. And first, though, let me just tell you, if you want to see any of the stuff from Taylor, like people that were there, all the performances, us getting out and about with you, go to our Mojo in the Morning Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. We got it for you.

00:53:59 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 1:

So an Indiana man was arrested for stalking Taylor Swift at her Nashville home and police began investigating this man back in March. So this has been going on for a long time, OK? after he sent some photos of weapons, just weapons, to Taylor's management team. Five days later, he messaged Taylor's dad and went on this rant about how he was Taylor's soulmate. Just very strange. That same day, he called the offices of several state governors and left them voicemails that he was going to be running for president and his campaign was going to be part of the ERA's tour. Over the next month, he posted several videos threatening Taylor, saying he was going to show up and wear a bomb in his chest. Then it got even scarier. On May 5th, he drove to Taylor's penthouse apartment and snuck in through an unlocked door. I don't know how this happens because she has so much security, but he told a security guard that he finally ran into that he was a great-looking, well-dressed, popular TV host that was there to see Taylor. security guard obviously knew something was wrong called the police but this crazy dude left before the police arrived so they couldn't get him he went to taylor's concert the next night sat in view of her management before being kicked out of the venue by security he then made several more threatening videos at the end of may before being arrested just a couple of days ago he is being charged with stalking by threatening serious injury or death oh my gosh i was talking to a

00:55:31 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 2:

friend of mine that's in law enforcement and i don't know if you guys even noticed this when you left the show did you see the the like military-esque uh presence that was out in front i believe there was like either national guards or michigan state police yeah there was definitely a really big presence in downtown detroit and many of it was that they just didn't want any incidents taking place on what was the busiest weekend in Detroit history but my friend that works in law enforcement said that the list of people to look out for was so big for Taylor Swift that they literally had to do briefings with all the law enforcement that was there of how many people that are considered to be threats to Taylor Swift yeah and her security at her hotel that she was staying at was the most locked down security that they've ever had

00:56:21 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was staying at Shinola Hotel, and, I mean, she had, like, a motorcade, essentially, to get her from the Shinola Hotel to Ford Field, but lots of celebrities, well, I shouldn't say lots, but a handful of celebrities hanging out at the shows at Ford Field this weekend, including Flavor Flav, Taylor's mom, Andrea, was there, she was hanging out with fans, and then Blake Lively and some of her daughters were hanging out on Saturday for the Eras Tour.

00:56:45 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 2:

Megan Mick was also there, too. Megan Mick was there. I don't know if you saw that.

00:56:48 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Megan Mick was there on Friday night.

00:56:49 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was with this really handsome guy, and a lot of people were saying, yeah, a lot of people were saying.

00:56:55 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 1:

You mean the Swifty, Megan? Yeah, the newfound Swifty.

00:56:58 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 2:

In a second, we'll find out for sure.

00:57:00 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yes. Porn star Mariah Mills continues to post about New Orleans Pelican star Zion Williamson since he announced his girlfriend Akima was pregnant with a baby girl. There is so much drama here. She has alleged, if you missed this story, that Williamson was also sexually involved with her at the same time he got his girlfriend pregnant and she's been posting pretty explicit details about their relations as our show gynecologist Dr. Werner says over the past week in multiple tweets on Saturday night she just went on a firestorm she posted some text message exchanges between the two one in which he tells her delete everything and we'll talk to which she replied you ruin my life you lie to me all the time you have a baby go be a father. You not my king no more. In one of the tweets, Mariah said she genuinely loved Zion Williamson. And then another woman named Yami Taylor later made claims about Williamson on Instagram talking about threesomes and OnlyFans and Pornhub and called him a nasty sex addict. That's terrible. She also posted an image of what appeared to be a shirtless zion williamson in bed i don't have many more details about that than that but no wonder he's not playing doesn't sound like he's the greatest guy to be involved in a relationship with so man oh man not a nice guy huh after rumors that calice and bill murray are dating she jumped into her comments to respond to some fans asking about it for the record bill murray has not weighed in on this or commented at all um remember they are rumored to be dating now they've been spotted together on several occasions but over the weekend calice posted a bikini selfie completely ignoring the media hype with her caption she simply just wrote i'm a beach bum well one fan came out and asked her directly ma'am would you care to address these bill murray allegations because damn what are you doing with all of that and her reply was interesting to me She said, LOL, no, babe, I wouldn't bother at all. Now, kind of vague, kind of ambiguous. I don't know. When she says she wouldn't bother at all, does she mean she wouldn't bother dating Bill Murray? Or she wouldn't bother addressing the rumors that she's dating Bill Murray? I don't know. So you could take it either way.

00:59:26 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 3:

If I was Bill Murray, I'd be shouting it from the rooftop. You know what I mean? I'd be playing that song every chance I get on every post I get and would tell everybody.

00:59:34 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Jennifer Aniston says she hates it when she hears one specific compliment about her age. She said the phrase, you look great for your age, is totally a backhanded compliment. And by the way, it's ageist as well. She said, it drives me bananas. I can't stand it.

00:59:57 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I had people saying that to me yesterday. I liked it.

01:00:00 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, by the way, happy birthday. But she said the compliment should instead be, you look great, period.

01:00:07 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no.

01:00:07 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 4:

And she said this is a habit of society that we have these markers like, well, you're at that stage. So for your age, you look great. And she said, she's 54, by the way.

01:00:20 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Come on, let's stop being offended by everything. And Jennifer, let me say this to you. I turned 69 years old yesterday, and I was very happy by the fact that everybody kept telling me how great I looked. It was unbelievable.

01:00:34 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 4:

She said, I'm in better shape than I was in my 20s. I feel better in mind, body, and spirit. I'm all 100% better. What do you think? Just please say you look great for yours. What are your guys' thoughts? Well, I will say that this reminds me of after I had both of my kids, people would say, oh, you look so great for just having a baby. And I kind of hated that a little bit.

01:00:53 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 5:

You know what somebody said to me literally this weekend? What? You look so much better in person than online.

01:00:58 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, listen, is that offensive to say to people? Yes! No, you look so much better in person than you do in pictures. People say that all the time with things that we do.

01:01:08 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay, people say you look better after you look at your age all the time.

01:01:12 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 3:

No, what it means, Megan, is that KP only chooses bad pictures of us.

01:01:19 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 4:

I kind of agree with Megan And I kind of agree with Jennifer Aniston Why don't you just say you look great Why do you have to say you look great for your age I mean it's not a big deal But if you're asking me if I agree with it

01:01:32 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 3:

Our world is full of people being just offended Can't people just take compliments

01:01:36 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 5:

Because what it really means is I expected you to look worse

01:01:39 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 3:

No it just means that oh my god You're so much more beautiful in person Than you are in pictures I'm like oh my god that's great Would you rather have people say You look better in your pictures No, I would rather have them think that.

01:01:49 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 5:

Or would you rather just have them say, you look nice? Why do you need the caveat?

01:01:53 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 3:

Megan, then people would say, you look better with your filters. I do.

01:01:57 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 4:

I do, though. I agree with you.

01:02:00 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 3:

Here's the deal. Truth. As long as you're telling me I look good, I've had people literally say, you're so much bigger in person. And I think that they're saying fat, but they mean tall. I'm not offended by it. Unless they do mean fat.

01:02:12 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's dirty, check out the dirty page on the goodmorning.com.

01:02:15 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Megan looked hot. in a dress that I saw 30 people wearing on Friday. I did not realize. We got to talk about that.

01:02:23 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the girl wearing the exact. Oh, my God. That's so funny. Exact and shoes, too.

01:02:28 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Miss something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

01:02:35 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Megan and I had a date on Friday. It was actually a double date with Mike and Cecily. By the way, Mike, could you have given us a little bit of space to be able to have, you know, maybe some romantic time. Thank you, Mike. I was hoping that Megan was going to put her arms around me during Love Story and just, like, sit there and hug me.

01:02:57 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that, I apologize. My daughter was all over the chairs, and I think she, at one point, put her arms around everybody. So, yeah, sorry about that.

01:03:06 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 3:

No, she was so cute. And you know what the best part about, like, going to a concert and all of us getting a chance to experience it was the fact that Megan is the biggest Taylor Swift fan.

01:03:19 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:03:19 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we all know that, right?

01:03:21 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 4:

You have come to the other side. What if I told you that I've been a Taylor Swift fan the whole time?

01:03:26 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 3:

And you've been faking it all along whenever you would talk about it?

01:03:30 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, who knew? Who knew? I did have the most eye-opening experience while I was at the show, but I have a question for all of the Swifties out there. Now, I don't hate Taylor Swift. I really don't. And I think that I got branded as a hater for a long time because I did have a few issues with her. I'm not going to lie. There were a few things I didn't like, and everybody said, oh, Megan hates Taylor Swift. Megan hates this. And I used to say over and over and over again, I don't hate her. I don't hate her. Yes, you do, Megan. You hate her. So I just dropped it, and I said, cool, I hate her, whatever. I never did, okay? Hate is a strong emotion. I don't have any emotions. We all know that I'm a cold-hearted bitch. So here's the thing. Swifties, now that I've actually had a really good time at her show, is it too late for me to be a part of the group? Can I be in the club?

01:04:22 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 3:

Wow, you're asking their permission. Do you have to or no?

01:04:25 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I could not believe how much fun the crowd was. Now, I've always said, and I think it's pretty clear, Harry Styles was my absolute favorite. And part of that is when you go to a Harry Styles show, everybody dresses up. It feels like a very safe environment. I really, really, really like the whole vibe of going to a show. And this is the first time I felt a very similar vibe going to a show was for Taylor Swift. I felt very safe, very welcome, very inclusive. It was great. I had tons of people giving me bracelets. It was so much fun. And I was like, all right, I don't really mind it here. I don't really mind it. But then I thought.

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 6:

Am I allowed to say that at this point, or is it too late for me?

01:05:04 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 5:

What's the phrase you always say about, like, do you have your bicycle because you're doing a lot of backpedaling?

01:05:10 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 6:

Is that what it is? So funny, Mike. So funny.

01:05:15 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it great to be able to put it back on Megan?

01:05:18 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 6:

But I literally just told you I didn't say all of that stuff. Y'all branded me as a hater.

01:05:23 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 3:

No, basically, we did. We would kind of like, you were not a fan, but we made you a hater in the perception of things. But I will say this, too, with you, Megan, going to see her live, which is the first time that I had ever gone to see her live, and had opportunities before to see her and chose not to because, honestly, I don't like going with crowds. I don't like getting involved in the whole thing. She is the best performer I have ever seen in person. She's in the top five. Bar none.

01:05:53 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:05:53 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Bar none. And I've seen her at the I Heard Radio Music Festival And I thought she was great there too It was a very interesting performance Because remember at the beginning of the show And it was like, she came out, did it And then she ended up having to fly away to somewhere else afterwards So it was like, holy crap, that was like a drive-by

01:06:08 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 1:

This is three hours

01:06:09 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 5:

It says something too when she does her deep cuts And they know every single song 60,000 people know every single word It was crazy

01:06:17 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 2:

I went on Saturday And there was a moment in the show Where she sat down to the piano And anybody that went on Saturday knows this moment I'm talking about. She blew her nose.

01:06:26 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. She did that on Friday. Oh, she did? Oh, okay, okay. Yeah, she did the whole thing. Did she do the whole thing? Can you please give me a tissue? No, no, no. Somebody just brought it. I wonder what that tissue said. She did that on Friday where she said she had not been feeling good, and then she blew her nose. Yeah. And then I wanted to run up on stage and give that away on the radio.

01:06:43 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 2:

For one billion dollars. Because you're mad.

01:06:45 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 1:

But my sister went to the show on Saturday, the same day that Lucy went, and she was like, shan i i stood right for four hours stood in the same place and like danced and sang and stuff and yesterday she's like i feel like i ran a full marathon i can't imagine how taylor is doing these shows where she's singing and dancing and costume changes and holy cow and like she's gotta she's gotta have like a trainer right literally to be preparing her for the rigor of going up on stage doing that show.

01:07:17 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 3:

And being sick.

01:07:17 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

And not feeling great.

01:07:19 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 3:

So, guys, big moment here right now. I want you to mark it down in your radio history. This is Monday, June the 12th. Megan is a Swiftie.

01:07:30 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 6:

Well, okay, so here's what I think is a big part of it. So you guys know I'm a huge theater nerd. And her show felt like a theater production. It felt like a show, like a real big show. But I also feel like I missed a lot. And I gotta tell you, I brought up Harry Styles earlier Harry has this song called Medicine It's never been released, he only does it live At some of his songs, I'm pissed I've still never heard it live And I felt like I I felt really bad because I was at the show where she played Haunted and apparently that was a very Very big deal and I did not know the song And I felt very bad

01:08:04 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, hi

01:08:06 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I just wanted to welcome Megan to the club It's all love We accept you, come on in

01:08:12 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 5:

See I thought Megan too The whole time you were just putting it on Because my daughter was like super into it I didn't realize you were actually into the show

01:08:20 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 6:

I think Cecily played a big part Of me getting more into it Than I probably would have If I went by myself

01:08:28 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 3:

I think also seeing all the fans That came out to our booth and tent And stuff beforehand They were all dressed up And to see anybody that just gets that crazed Over somebody was cool too Yes Christina what did you want to say to Megan

01:08:42 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 6:

Welcome to the dark side. I love it.

01:08:47 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this is a big moment here on the show. Megan is now on the dark side. She's on the Taylor Swift dark side. Reagan, what's going on?

01:08:55 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I just want to tell Megan, like, you don't have, there's no, like, time limit to be a pussie. My two best friends are, like, the biggest pussies in the world, and they, like, always, I was always, like, Megan, like, no, I don't like her because I'm a big hairy fan. And they were trying to convince me And then I finally listened to her music And now I'm like the biggest liftie We went Saturday and just sat outside and listened So I'm just telling her That was wild

01:09:23 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

That was wild that an indoor venue People were standing out in front of the doors Like when I opened up the door to leave the show I left after about an hour and a half Because I was just exhausted on Friday People were asking me, Regan To hold the door open longer And just stand there and hold the door

01:09:39 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, security like my two best friends like my one best friend brie was there friday and said how amazing she cried and i literally was like oh there's not going to be a lot of people waiting out but we can and there were so many people yelling at security open the doors and they finally did and everyone was like so excited like

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 5:

And Kirito was like, we'll open the doors for like as long as you want.

01:10:04 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, this is a big moment in music history. And I say this, man, if you ever have an opportunity to see anybody perform, she is unbelievable. And I read one time that they just talk about, it was the Michael Jackson effect. And they talked about how Michael Jackson would go travel across the world and perform. And people would faint when he would just come to their side of the stage. Like when Michael would go show over there I saw that with Taylor She was so choreographed in her just looking both to sides And the cameras were on Shannon, I'm going to say this This is the most amazing thing I saw a girl kind of get like weak At the particular moment And I was like, I couldn't believe it I felt like I was in the midst of what potentially was You know, the greatest of all time But I also was with Meg And I will say The other thing I wanted to say too is You know what the greatest thing about a Taylor Swift concert is? Better than anything And if you were at the show You witnessed this guys Every men's restroom Had nobody in it You could go to the bathroom Anytime you wanted to It was unbelievable

01:11:14 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 1:

You probably didn't know That some of the men's restrooms At Ford Field were converted To women's restrooms And I actually went To the men's restroom

01:11:21 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 4:

Didn't matter And you know what else you got If you wanted concessions You can get anything you wanted to With no line while the show was going on. It was amazing.

01:11:29 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 3:

There was at one point security by where I was sitting in front of the guys' restrooms because girls had tried to go into the guys' restrooms. And it got so bad. So I had my daughter, and I was going to take her to the bathroom. I'm like, oh, I'm going to have to put her in that line forever. And the security guard comes running up to me and goes, no, man, you can take her in. I respect that. I respect that.

01:11:47 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, what? Ebony actually works at Ford Field. And what did you want to say about the fans, the Taylor Swift fans?

01:11:54 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 5:

The Taylor Swift fans are absolutely the best fans.

01:11:58 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Wait, your phone got kind of jarbled. They're absolutely the what?

01:12:03 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 5:

The best fans.

01:12:05 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Better than any?

01:12:08 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Better than any concert I've worked at. I mean, Luke Combs, who else was there recently? Kenny Chesney. No, like Taylor Swift fans are polite, courteous. They just want to have a good time. They know their alcohol limit.

01:12:26 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 2:

Like, it was great. Well, and there were a lot of parents there that had little kids, so they weren't going to get sloshed.

01:12:32 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

What are the worst fans of? Lions fans or Bears fans when they come in to play the Lions? What do you think?

01:12:41 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 5:

It's terrible when the Bears come. What's in Wisconsin? Who is that?

01:12:47 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, the Green Bay Packers.

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, those people.

01:12:51 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Cheeseheads are a-holes. Cheese holes.

01:12:55 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 5:

I worked both nights into Shannon's sister. Try standing for seven hours both nights. I could not make it through the door. I bet. My calves are so tight. Oh my gosh.

01:13:09 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 4:

I bet it was exhausting to be up that entire time. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning uninterrupted right now. Shannon, you had

01:13:19 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 2:

one of those what moments happened to you so on there was so much going on downtown this weekend I mean obviously everybody's talking about the Taylor Swift show but there were also some other you know events going on downtown and so on Friday Wes had said to me obviously we were downtown broadcasting and stuff and he had said to me um I'm gonna go out with you know some friends tonight which i love because the majority of his friends are back in his homeland of canada so the fact that he was going out with some buddies here just made me really happy and i was like oh my gosh have the best time um you know i'll see you tomorrow and then i'm like wait what are you guys doing and his response to me was we're going to the big booty show to which i And I responded, the F-U-R. No. Because I immediately think they're going to a strip club or something like that. I'm like, the Big Booty Show, what are you talking about? And he goes, I don't know, that's what they told us, that's what they told me that we were doing. He didn't even really have any sort of idea of what they were doing. They were meeting at somebody's house, having some food and drinks, and then going to the Big Booty Show. Big Booty Show. So I'm like, no, you are not. I'm so uncomfortable with this.

01:14:36 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 4:

The bazooki, isn't it? No, that's not it.

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Like, they're going to bazookis or whatever.

01:14:41 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 4:

That is the greatest name of a strip club ever, isn't it? Like, not a superhero fan. The bazooki. Yeah.

01:14:45 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

So, hey, I ended up texting one of the girls that he was going with, who I'm friends with, and I said, where are you guys going tonight? And it was a show at the Fillmore called Two Friends, and they do something called the Big Booty Remix.

01:14:59 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really?

01:15:00 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 3:

Which actually is amazing They have like tons of them And it's really super popular I had just never heard of it And apparently neither had Wes Because he didn't really understand what they were doing But the way that he kept saying it to me Is the Big Booty show I thought he was joking

01:15:14 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 2:

Is it a music show or what is it?

01:15:16 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah it's music It's like they're like DJs They just like remix like 15 seconds Of like a popular song

01:15:21 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh really?

01:15:22 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 3:

It's so good

01:15:23 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 2:

And they just sit there and make Oh wow

01:15:24 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 3:

So we were listening I was listening to them all weekend Because

01:15:27 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 1:

Where does the booty come into play? Is, like, the music makes you booty shake or shake your booty?

01:15:32 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't really know, but, like, the, yeah, it's just two friends.

01:15:38 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because any concert.

01:15:39 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 3:

They grew up in L.A., they're, like, buddies, and they, like, DJ.

01:15:42 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 1:

Any concert called the Big Booty Show, I'm thinking Uncle Luke.

01:15:46 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right, exactly. Freak Nick. My booty. My booty.

01:15:50 - 01:16:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's funny. Oh, my God. By the way, I love that when guys do go out, like, and they party with their friends, If they do go to the strip club They always come up with a different thing to say that they're doing Like they would never say Even if it was a strip club thing They would never say Hey we're going to the big booty show They usually will say We're going to like church Or figure something out Has anybody ever had their spouse Like secretly catch their significant other Boyfriend or husband or whatever Going to a strip club And they told you that they were going somewhere else You'll have to like call us up and tell us Like, where exactly they told you that they were going to? Because no guy ever sits there and says, yeah, hon, I'm going to go, you know, to wherever.

01:16:36 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 3:

The landing strip.

01:16:37 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the landing strip. I'm going to go hang out in the landing strip. I'm not really that honest with you on that. Instead, I'm going to be going to a, there's this financial consultant guy in town. I remember a buddy of mine one time told his wife that he was going to see Anthony Robbins speak. And his wife went and Googled where the heck it was because she thought, oh, I wonder where he was. Going to see it and looked and Anthony Robbins Was in like New Orleans at the time Wow What's going on Grace? Hi it's Mojo in the Morning

01:17:05 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Hi good morning How are you? Good

01:17:09 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 2:

Did you have any guys go to the Big Booty Show or?

01:17:13 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 4:

I did my husband Brother-in-law and a good friend all went So Shannon they're just Two fun DJs Do a ton of Remixes to songs we've been listening to them for i don't know six or seven years yeah but their uh their playlists are fun they're so

01:17:31 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 2:

good yeah we were listening all weekend then after he went do uh do your guys have fun do they have a good time there was like what's the crowd is it male female is it mixed

01:17:40 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 4:

it's a big mix um i went to one earlier in the year um or last year and it was a really good time um the guy said it's really fun to go to because everyone is just so friendly they're like it's the nicest concert that they go to because no one is rude or mean like everyone

01:17:57 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 5:

that's cool like yeah that's awesome uh what's up carrie hi hi hey so when i was 19 i dated this guy and he used to tell me that him and his buddies were going to go to the windsor ballet and it wasn't for like another year that i found out through his friend who outed him on accident that it was actually a strip club.

01:18:20 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes. By the way, I'm sorry. The strip club is called the Windsor Ballet? No, that's what everybody would refer to. That was just their excuse. Oh, okay. Yeah, that was like the AK.

01:18:28 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's great.

01:18:29 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:18:29 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 3:

I was 19.

01:18:30 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 2:

My laugh got a little sinister there when you said that. You know what I mean? I followed it.

01:18:36 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 5:

The best part was is that his buddy came up to me and told me how cool I was for letting him go. And I'm like, well, you know, he gets culture, you know?

01:18:45 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 4:

That's great.

01:18:46 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, you brought something up about Wes that made me wonder about this. Oh, no, what? No, you said that he doesn't have a lot of friends here, but he has his friends in Canada. Yeah. Does that ever make it tough? Because I had a friend of mine that dated a girl that had no friends. All of her friends were in another city. And it was tough because they always would find that when they wanted to go out, it was really, really difficult because you didn't want them to be alone, you know, without their friends.

01:19:19 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so his, like, best, best friends, for the most part, are in Canada. Actually, the people that he went out with on Friday night are his, like, best, best friends here. But when he was married, because, you know, he was married before, he was divorced, he and his ex-wife had, like, couple friends. and then that they kind of like dispersed in the divorce and so what's really cool now is he's becoming friends with a lot of my friends husbands okay like genuinely becoming friends with him not

01:19:45 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 2:

just because like is it getting to a point where now it's comfortable enough where you can call those guys and say hey guys let's go out for a beer and stuff like that yeah which i love um

01:19:52 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

because if not a while it was like it it was it was tough if not we will we will put him on auction

01:19:58 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 2:

and for listeners to hang out with him. He's a very... very nice guy, and he can come hang out with me anytime. Mike, I know that you've said in the past that you would like more guy friends in your life.

01:20:06 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, I would say more dad friends, too. He's a guy who's got kids and understands, like, the time restraints. I don't have a lot of friends that have kids. Would you like to go to the booty show? Yeah, absolutely. I'll go today. Actually, Mike, you would love it. Yeah, it sounds like a lot of fun. I do feel I have to explain it to my wife, but yeah. And I do feel

01:20:24 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 2:

bad, like, you know, like, I do feel bad for Mike in the case that, and it was fun that we got to hang out this weekend, but it's It's tough because you're two hours away So that's kind of a tough one Like hey Mike what are you doing tonight You want to meet in Lansing

01:20:35 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 3:

Like trying to figure stuff out

01:20:38 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 2:

But it is kind of tough Like you almost have to pre-plan things a lot Right

01:20:40 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes yeah yeah yeah My wife's really like cool about it Maybe she's because she's kicking me out of the house But she's really cool about it

01:20:47 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 2:

She wants you out and about I was texting back and forth with her She was loving the pictures and stuff

01:20:51 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 1:

You made me I forgot I should have sent that in my topics You made me look so bad You said I love you and I miss you Before I said it

01:20:59 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I said it to her. I wanted her to know that she was missing.

01:21:03 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 1:

I know, I know.

01:21:04 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

You got to let me do it first, though, so then. I can't tell your wife I love her before you tell her I love her. I feel like that's etiquette, right? I already said good morning to her, and I hope you had a great night. I bet you did. Mojo on the morning show. So I got a bunch of happy birthday texts yesterday, which is very, like, stressful to know. So, like, you know, with Facebook and people sending you messages on Facebook, you can actually put, like, one reply, and people will be cool with that. They'll be, you know, oh, that's cool. You know, they said thank you, whatever, for my message. Because people, like, in the past, they used to want an individual message to each person, which I tried to do, and I tried to, like, like and, you know, say thank you to everybody. But with text message, when somebody has your personal text, you have to answer them back. And I did that yesterday And I tried to stay on top of it as the day went on And then I started realizing It's like a task to have a birthday And I'm not Trying to sit there and say Wah, wah, wah No, you know, I don't like this But I'm saying wah, wah, wah

01:22:10 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, all these people love me I can't believe it Oh, poor me I actually get what you're saying Good for me, right?

01:22:19 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 3:

Because you feel like a jerk if you don't respond back to somebody who took the time to write

01:22:23 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 1:

you something. But then I feel like on my birthday, I'm on my phone all day just saying, thanks, thanks, thanks. I can't enjoy it.

01:22:30 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Alright, so yesterday I had somebody, and I won't say their name because I'm already talking about it as a topic here right now. They got upset with me over my response back to them. And you guys tell me if I am in the wrong on this. So they sent me a birthday text wishing me a happy birthday. and the actual text was happy birthday I hope that your day is full of laughs good food and cake to which I replied thank you and then the person got upset with me here was the reason why they were upset they were upset because my thank you was all caps and they felt like my thank you was too loud for them and they felt like I was not being like good on my thank you and then i actually sent back right afterwards a are you kidding with not all caps but you know just the a in are you kidding to capitalize with a question mark and they said no that seemed kind of a little aggressive your thank you that you sent back

01:23:38 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 3:

see i like it i think it sounds excited thank you and i'm in listen in that case and i don't

01:23:43 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 2:

think that they're like truly upset with me until i did this topic on the radio call them out for this thing but do caps make a difference because somebody told me that you should never lol somebody and have the lol be in all caps and people like get really upset when you lol aggressively they think it's an aggressive lol with a uh with an all caps do caps make a difference do all caps make a difference in in your replies or is this just a person that's being a little crazy I use

01:24:15 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 3:

all caps a lot to like stress certain words yeah and I feel like I don't know that yes sometimes all caps can be a lot especially if in an email and it can be aggressive but I don't think in

01:24:26 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 2:

your situation it was at all like I've I've said all caps back and certain things I think I even did Shannon to you uh this weekend where I did like a wow like wow like in all caps and I don't think that that seems aggressive but it was a thing that you had sent that it was like wow that's

01:24:41 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

a pretty cool crazy thing i think it's on how the person it's on how you or the person you send it to reads it because you could read that two different ways you could read thank you or you could or you could read like thank you you finally did that you finally sent that or whatever or it could be you know aggressively excited thank you like i was like meaning it as oh thank you like Go.

01:25:00 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 4:

I was meaning it by it, but they were taking it as, like, thank you, exactly like your thank you was, Mike, in the inflection.

01:25:05 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 3:

The fact that they couldn't even wait, that they had to reply with that on your birthday, like, how selfish of them.

01:25:11 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like, why would you even do that? All right, how did caps get you in trouble on a text back? You'll have to call up and tell us. 844 Mojo Live. Paige, your thoughts on this?

01:25:19 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I am very expressive. I'm loud. I speak with my hands. So I do caps all the time, and I do 10 exclamation points. So me saying thank you in all caps would be me just, like, being really happy and thank you so much. So for someone to think that that was you being, like, mean, aggressive, that blows my mind. I just can't. I'm like, wow, really?

01:25:47 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 4:

Who hurt you? I don't honestly. I don't get it. Yeah, exactly. There must have been something more to it. And I didn't want to get into it because I feel really bad about, you know, calling them out on the radio. But I thought, oh, my God, this has got to be something I can bring up because I wonder if the listeners have more to it. But, Erica, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:26:06 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, everyone. Good morning.

01:26:08 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. Hold on. That was not enthusiastic enough. Can you make it all caps for us with your good morning?

01:26:13 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. There you go.

01:26:15 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 4:

I like it. It was better. What's up?

01:26:18 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 1:

On Mother's Day, my husband's aunt sent me a text message, you know, wishing me a happy Mother's Day. and we just kind of got carried away getting breakfast so i didn't get a chance to respond and a couple hours later she sent me like a little wave emoji because like she's super passive aggressive and she needed me to acknowledge that i sent her a reply and i said oh thank you sorry we just got you know busy doing stuff i hope you have a great mother's day too and then she said oh it's okay i just wanted to make sure you were you were setting aside time to relax to also apparently reply to the message.

01:26:50 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 4:

Which, by the way, it's hard to relax when you're sending me passive-aggressive text messages back and forth.

01:26:57 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 1:

She's definitely the kind of person that needs a pat on the back for doing a nice thing. I never expect anything in return when I say things to people. It's just because I want to say it, not because I want to get crazy.

01:27:10 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 4:

The wave to me is annoying. I hate the waves when they come out. What's up, Michelle?

01:27:15 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 1:

I was just having a normal conversation with my daughter, texting with just my thumb, and I accidentally switched into caps while I was typing. So I just, instead of erasing, I just continued on, and my daughter sent me back. She was like, why do you have to be so aggressive? And I'm going, what? I accidentally switched to caps, and she thought I was yelling at her. So it was just, she was really upset at me. I'm like, no, calm down.

01:27:40 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 4:

You know what you should have done? You should have typed back, if you want aggressive, come home, you little bitch. Next time pull that with her and see what happens Okay

01:27:50 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 1:

Thanks you too

01:27:53 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning show Mike you say that When you first met Kev Which was in our studios last week For the very first time You said that you felt a little awkward And you wanted to bring it up To see if he kind of sensed this What was that?

01:28:11 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 2:

So I am a hugger I will hug anybody. Doesn't matter if I just met you just right then or we've known each other for years. I just like to hug people. So we met each other like 5 o'clock in the morning when I was there Friday. And he goes in for the handshake, and I just went right past it, like went right through it and went for the hug. And then as I'm doing that, he's like standing there, and I'm like, I'm sorry, I'm a hugger. And, like, I realize that, like, not everybody's a hugger, and I probably should have said, hey, you know, hug. or whatever, you know, ask for permission, I guess, maybe. But I just went in for it. And I don't know if you're supposed to hug people anymore. I don't know if we're still hugging people or if we're just handshaking now. Did you catch that at all? What was my reaction? I think you hugged back, but you put your hand out and, like, kind of put it through my, like, you were still waiting for the handshake. Like, I probably should have went in for the handshake still. But then you kind of went, all right, he's already hugging, so I'm going to hug. Yeah, no, it was very awkward.

01:29:09 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 3:

Like, I went in for the full, like, what up, Mike? And ready to go He had his arms open He hugged But I didn't think Anything of it I like hugged you Right back And was like Okay cool Yeah So I don't I'm not It was an awkward moment But it was cool

01:29:24 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 4:

I think sometimes People don't know If they should touch each other Or do something To each other like that And I think people Get kind of like I don't know What I should do

01:29:32 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

01:29:32 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 4:

I had this happen a lot With when I'm Around women And I honestly I like hugging Like I'm a big hugger I'm a hugger too And I had

01:29:42 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 1:

Nope

01:29:42 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't want to.

01:29:45 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 1:

Don't touch me.

01:29:47 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

But I'm also now, like, I realize my hugging has gotten a little bit more, like, you know, distance hugging a little bit. Booty out hug? No, it's kind of like, like, I put my... Oh, my God, you're doing the tap-tap.

01:30:00 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

I hate that.

01:30:01 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 4:

I hate when someone pats or taps my back. He does the Duggar side hug, too, a lot.

01:30:06 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 5:

Where he'll just grab your shoulders.

01:30:08 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 4:

The Duggar side hug. Wait. I don't know if I noticed that.

01:30:11 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 2:

I did not know it was called the Duggar side hug. Oh, yeah, because they weren't allowed to hug. Right. What if you meet a member of the opposite sex? Does that change things? Like, am I supposed to hug a woman the first time I see her? I don't know.

01:30:22 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 4:

I hug guys. And I always say, oh, I'm a hugger. Like, they put their hand out. I'm a hugger. Yeah.

01:30:27 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 2:

But I feel like it's different if you initiate it. like that's different than if i'm just going around hugging women you know what i mean

01:30:35 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 5:

yeah um i only hug people when they try to hug me because i think it's more awkward to say no thanks

01:30:40 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 1:

but i hate it i hate it so much you hate hugging anybody right like even your dad doesn't even get

01:30:49 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 5:

a hug sometimes yeah it's only if i'm having like a full breakdown i one time asked megan

01:30:56 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 1:

is that really your father because you act like he's not i hate him he actually like has already

01:31:02 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 5:

told me how disappointing it is to be a girl dad today when kevin announced that he's having a girl so um i don't get any respect and so he gets no love and affection um i feel like sometimes with

01:31:16 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

with hugging though that if if i if i do give a hug i feel like there's always the uh-oh are they not into the hug thing and then when it makes me feel comforted when all of a sudden they're like oh my god you give the best hugs i'm like oh thank god that's what i should have said to mike

01:31:34 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 2:

yeah what you go oh my god you give the best hugs i should have a better response

01:31:38 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 3:

instead you just you kept your arm out as i'm hugging you and i'm like oh he wants me to stop

01:31:43 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 1:

this but i'm already i'm already committed to the hug actually mike the one thing that with you i You're a great hugger I like to hug And you are Mike is a very You know You can tell that You know Mike is very much Compassionate You know In his wanting to To do it And I think it's great It's just when he Doesn't stop And Mike also comes up to me To like Mid chest level here And it looks like I'm actually holding A small child

01:32:12 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 3:

That's honestly One of the greatest hugs I've ever had Can you just take me right in

01:32:15 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 1:

He rubs Actually he's put his face Right in between my bosoms and actually has gone back and forth and gone,

01:32:21 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Please no, absolutely not

01:32:53 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

But it's nice that they like you

01:32:54 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah Well, in my face, they do

01:32:57 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez There's a problem right there

01:33:00 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 7:

So I'm like, uh, can we not? And I told my husband, I'm like, can I, how do I say, please don't say But I'll provide my dinner, so, you know

01:33:10 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever met somebody who hugged you and then continued to keep their arm around you?

01:33:16 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no

01:33:17 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

That's the only time, like, I love hugging I'll hug anyway But that, yes, that's to me in a smaller background. I'm like, all right. The hug ended 25 seconds ago. What do you do?

01:33:28 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Do you shake it off?

01:33:29 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 4:

No, I always just stand there.

01:33:30 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 1:

No, Shannon does the whole duck underneath your arm.

01:33:34 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 4:

I think I see my friend over there.

01:33:36 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 6:

Just walk away.

01:33:37 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Heather?

01:33:39 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey there. I met you guys on Friday night at the live. And I just want to apologize to Megan because I went in for a hug because I was so freaking excited to meet you guys.

01:33:48 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, Megan. No. I'm sorry. It's fine. It's truly fine. I won't ever, like, strong-arm somebody and be like, no. I just wouldn't initiate. We're so great, but I am sorry I touched you. She's a great hugger, isn't she?

01:34:05 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 6:

She's a pleasing hugger.

01:34:07 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:34:07 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 5:

I also think it's very weird because I'm so large-chested that when I hug people, it feels like I'm just rubbing my boobs on them. And that, to me, is, like, very awkward.

01:34:17 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 6:

So am I, girl. So our boobs touched. Heather.

01:34:20 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 1:

It was so flattering to see the response that we got from listeners. I mean, even Kev, who's only been with us for like a couple of weeks, people were like so excited to meet you and people were excited to meet our children and, you know, it was really cool. It was awesome.

01:34:37 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 6:

It was the best part of my night. And even though Taylor was amazing, meeting you guys was the highlight of my life.

01:34:43 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

That was awesome. Thank you so much. That means the most to us. We appreciate it. Honestly, I will say we love you too. We love you. We love you, too. But honestly, you know, staying up late and, you know, getting up at 3.30 in the morning because none of us got naps at all that day because we were so busy in the afternoon, too.

01:35:00 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 3:

it really was like keeping us energized throughout the evening what's up sam hey i used to be a camp

01:35:07 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

counselor and we had the keyword like cash so we would joke with new people like hey you want some cash and they would get really excited and be like as you squeeze them you'd be like camp

01:35:16 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 3:

appropriate side hug i was trying to figure out what what it meant there you go all right yeah

01:35:24 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 1:

and especially girls and guys it was always like guys remember cash and they'd be like oh find camp appropriate side hugs. So it just was like an ongoing gag.

01:35:33 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 3:

We just scream out Megan, and that's what gets us to stop. No hugs. Megan.

01:35:40 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 1:

Why do you use my name as the mood ruiner?

01:35:43 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

Come over here, Megan. Actually, you know what's funny is that my favorite is if you ever want to end something with Megan, come over and give us a hug, Megan. Come on over here. And she's like, I'm out of here. I'm not part of this whole thing. All right, second date update now. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We do the second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning show. If you are getting ghosted, text DATE to 95500 and we'll get you on a second date update. Lexi, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you doing?

01:36:21 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

01:36:23 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 3:

Good. So you ended up going out with this guy and you're not hearing from him?

01:36:28 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So this was our second date. Our first date went really well. And I don't know why he's ghosting me now. I thought that the date went really well. I thought that I definitely looked like really sexy. And I feel like I did everything right, you know. And we went back to my place. We had a really good time. And so I just can't understand why he's not calling me back now.

01:36:53 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 3:

Now, did he spend the night with you?

01:36:55 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 2:

He absolutely did spend the night And had no complaints there Okay

01:37:00 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 3:

Did something happen?

01:37:04 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 2:

Between us that night?

01:37:05 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, did you guys Did you guys fool around?

01:37:08 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, definitely did

01:37:09 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay So he came back to your house Spent the night with you at your place Left what? In the middle of the night? Next morning?

01:37:18 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 2:

He left in the morning

01:37:19 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 3:

And when he left he said Goodbye, we'll see you later I'll call you

01:37:25 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know, the normal, like, oh, bye, like, kiss me goodbye, and left, and I was just like, okay, like, this is going well, I'm going to hear from this person, but now no calls, no texts, like, I even tried to, you know, Snapchat him, nothing, like, so annoying.

01:37:42 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 3:

All right, well, we got him on the phone with us right now. Alex, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

01:37:49 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

01:37:49 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

Alex, say hello to Lexi.

01:37:52 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Lexi. Hi.

01:37:57 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 3:

Alex, you seem like all business there. I was like, oh, sure. Hello. So, Alex, what's the story? What's going on? Why do you seem so cold after what seemed like it was a great night?

01:38:11 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm not trying to be cold. I guess I'm a little uncomfortable is all. No, you know, Lexi's great. But we had a good time on the first day and second date.

01:38:26 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 3:

Second date, you went to her place, her apartment, her house, and you guys sounded like you had a good time. Like you guys ended up, she said that you guys spent the night with each other. Yeah, that's true. That's true. And was it that it went too fast for you, or are you one of those that gets to what you want and then you're done with it?

01:38:50 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not. I'm sure it seems like that. And I didn't think it was too fast. I thought we connected. It was more like an employment situation that I was just not comfortable with.

01:39:04 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 2:

Did you say appointment or employment?

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 4:

Employment. Employment.

01:39:08 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 3:

Your employment or her employment?

01:39:10 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 4:

Her employment. What do you mean? well I mean so we so when we showed up at her place you know she has a whole like set up in her bedroom like camera and ring light and stuff like that which I figured for TikTok or something like that I mean a lot of people do that but like the next morning I was kind of like checking it out a little closer and it seems like it's like an only fan situation um which she hadn't mentioned at all um and that just kind of weirds me out i guess too

01:39:53 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

much you do only fans lexi yeah i do only fans yeah

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 7:

And you were honest with him about it?

01:40:02 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 6:

A hundred percent. And I don't understand why that's a problem.

01:40:06 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 7:

It just didn't come up as far as, you know, the specifics of it. It was like, oh, yeah, you know, that's like an internet thing. But I didn't really, you know, again, I thought it was more like a TikTok level situation.

01:40:22 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 3:

Like she's doing makeup or hair or something on there, dancing, but not.

01:40:27 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 2:

Lexi, you didn't tell him what type of things you do on OnlyFans. Are you willing to share with us what you do on OnlyFans?

01:40:33 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 6:

Well, you know, what do you think I do on OnlyFans? I mean, you know, I take pictures of my gorgeous self and make money that way. Please, like, of course.

01:40:43 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and you're proud of it, obviously, if you're willing to just say it like that. I like that, that you've got confidence in what you do.

01:40:49 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 6:

I do have confidence, and I don't see why that's an issue if I'm, you know, supporting myself making money it's not like i'm like you know you know it's not like i'm like

01:41:01 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 3:

actually hooking up with these people but but to to defend alex a little bit i think it's not an issue and that is totally cool that you do that and that's your way of making money but i do think that some people would be uncomfortable being in a relationship with somebody who does that

01:41:18 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 4:

but he was so i get his point he wasn't uncomfortable hooking up with her because

01:41:22 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 3:

that was one-on-one yeah but still i'm just saying i i actually would feel the same way if i if i had gone out on a date with somebody and found out that they did that and again there is nothing wrong with it but for me to be in a relationship with somebody i don't think i could do it and so i think that it's it's fair that he's saying you know thank you i had a great time but

01:41:42 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 7:

this is just it's just not for me alex i can't imagine things progressing and then still like That's what's always on my mind.

01:41:51 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 2:

What would be your problem, though, knowing that this is her way of making money? If she were doing what you thought was TikTok and she was just doing modeling on TikTok or whatever, is it the fact that you have in your head that OnlyFans is a dirty place?

01:42:10 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 7:

It's the nudity. I mean, come on. You didn't have a problem with her nudity.

01:42:15 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 3:

Is everybody else okay with this but me?

01:42:17 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 7:

Everyone else is okay with their skin?

01:42:18 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 3:

I just said I would agree with you

01:42:21 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 2:

But wait real quick I'm sorry I want to ask just two questions And then we'll open it up for everybody here Question number one Are you nude on it Lexi?

01:42:31 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes Sometimes I am

01:42:33 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 2:

And are we right into the fact that you Nothing physical happens Between you and anybody that is One of your clients on OnlyFans

01:42:43 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely

01:42:45 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 4:

Nothing physical happens between us

01:42:47 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 2:

Megan what do you think?

01:42:48 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 4:

I think that it was okay for him to use her body, but when she used it to make money, all of a sudden it's not okay. Seems like a weird double standard to me, and I don't like it.

01:42:58 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Alex?

01:43:02 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I mean, I don't know what your situation is, but if you have a significant other, you don't care if they're sending new pictures to somebody else?

01:43:09 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 4:

No, because if you're paying my bills, I'm happy. Well, I'm not looking for somebody to pay my bills.

01:43:15 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, what would you do? And Mike what would you do Start with you Kevin What would you do If you were dating

01:43:20 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm going Randy American Idol It's a no for me dog So you would have a hard time Dating a girl I don't Like there are certain things In my woman's body And what I hold sacred Should only be From my eyes only And I don't need that Accessible to the world

01:43:34 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Mike what are your thoughts

01:43:35 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 7:

I mean I got a lot Of student loans No Absolutely not Not a chance No there's no way

01:43:42 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 2:

Helena what's up It's Mojo in the morning Second date update Alex has not been calling Lexi back because he found out that she is on OnlyFans. What are your thoughts?

01:43:52 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think he should have been up front with her. I don't think it's the reason for him to ghost her. I definitely think that, you know, there are people that will support Lexi in that, and I think that's great. But, you know, it's obviously not Alex, and he should have said, like, this isn't for me. I wish he was about to look and kind of went on display.

01:44:11 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 2:

What if it was just, like, feet? because I always hear about people making money off their feet. Would you have a hard time with that, Alex?

01:44:18 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 7:

See, maybe feet would be okay.

01:44:21 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

So if she lied to you and didn't tell you that she was doing what she's doing. I understand. But, like, I think you've got to give her, and I get, listen, I totally understand the perspective of Kev and Mike and Shannon on this one here, but I kind of side with Megan on this, that you had no problem on date number two going into a room getting naked with her and having sex with her but then when you found out what her occupation was where she's not touching anybody like she's touching you i in the fact that she was forthcoming and honest with you like all of a sudden now now your moral compass changes a little bit I

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 4:

I think if I knew that on the first date, they probably wouldn't miss it.

01:45:03 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 6:

Nobody's dating Kendall Jenner anymore. Nobody's dating her.

01:45:06 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 3:

See, some things you try, some things you buy. Some people you date, some people you marry. There are things you're willing to, you know what I mean? That's why they have appetizers, and that's why they have entrees. Some things are just different.

01:45:18 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't like that, though, either, saying I can use you, but I'm not going to get with you. It's not using you. Try not buy.

01:45:24 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 8:

And by the way, I don't like the argument of, well, it was okay for him. Well, again, that was between two people. who were maybe going to be developing a relationship with each other.

01:45:34 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 9:

Jill, what are your thoughts? I don't know.

01:45:36 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Well, the fact that he didn't know truly what she was doing online until the next morning doesn't mean he went in knowing that she was doing OnlyFans and still slept with her anyway. He's allowed to not be comfortable with that and say, okay, that's just not something I want to do. I don't like people that smoke cigarettes. So if I was dating somebody and they pulled out a cigarette, I'd be like, oh, that's not for me. I mean, you're allowed to not be comfortable with something And just because he didn't know fully when he found out, he made his decision.

01:46:03 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 10:

We're all judging Lexi's OnlyFan, too, and none of us have seen it yet. So if you could just tell it's your OnlyFan.

01:46:11 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 9:

Are you going to tell your wife, Allie, that this is for research purposes? Yeah, research purposes only. Robbie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts?

01:46:18 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, everybody. How's everybody doing? Good. What's going on? Hey, it's okay to not be okay with something. but my thing is you went to bed with her you went without with her she was honest with you in the beginning but you didn't have a problem with the sex or anything of that nature but you were weak you left the next morning you knew you weren't coming back you knew you weren't going to call her be a real man about it and stand up and be honest about it you know that's some some that's really weak of you you know to do that you know you you can't even deal with it you know it sounds

01:46:52 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, and I don't like the idea that, you're right, that he's not, I get the idea that he has the choice, absolutely, but he also should be a gentleman enough to be able to say to her, listen, I'm not doing this instead of completely not. Well, that's every second date update. Yeah. What's up, James?

01:47:10 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, guys? Hey, I'm down for it, man. My ex-girlfriend used to do it, and it was no problem.

01:47:16 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 9:

And what was she doing?

01:47:19 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

Everything. Okay. More than the one that's on the radio now does.

01:47:23 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 9:

Was she sleeping with anybody?

01:47:25 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 4:

No, no. It was just me. But, I mean, I helped her run the video camera. I was just in the background.

01:47:32 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 9:

Did you ever make a guest appearance on camera?

01:47:36 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 4:

I have, and it was great. We had tons of money.

01:47:39 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 9:

What do people think of you? Do they like you, or do they say, hey, get that guy out of there?

01:47:44 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 4:

I was an airline hoe, is what they said.

01:47:47 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 9:

Wow.

01:47:48 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 6:

Can I ask a question, though?

01:47:50 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 9:

I didn't care. Who do you want to ask a question to?

01:47:51 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 6:

To all of you guys. Okay. Because, like, to me, this is like an actress in a movie doing an intimate scene with a partner. They didn't actually have intimate scenes. They might have shown their body parts, but we never said, oh, that actress is undateable because she did a nude scene in a movie. So what's the difference here?

01:48:08 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 9:

I mean, I agree.

01:48:11 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 8:

I don't know because it's, like, real people engaging with you. I don't know. Like, there's engagement. Like, I think, I think with a movie, it's on a TV screen and there's no, there's no communication. It's on a computer screen. I know, but there's communication. Well, you're, you're never going to, you're never going to talk to or, or, or I don't know how you communicate. Are you communicating with them or are you just sending them stuff? But they're still asking you for specific things, right? Is how I understand it. Oh, you're asking me. Yeah.

01:48:42 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 9:

Are you, are you actually, uh, live streaming with them or are you just sending them things?

01:48:47 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 7:

On mine, I'm just sending. I don't see the lines. But they are asking for things. So there is communication. Yeah. Sometimes people are asking, yes. I'm in communication with certain people.

01:48:57 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 8:

So there is the potential for there to be other things happening. Whereas an actress in a movie, that's not the case.

01:49:04 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 9:

Hey, will you blow our minds right now and tell us how much money you make a year doing this?

01:49:11 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 7:

I mean, you know, it's good money. It's good money. It pays my life. I don't know that I feel comfortable telling you the exact number, especially if Alex...

01:49:21 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 9:

Are we talking six figures plus?

01:49:25 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we are. At this point, we are. We're talking good money. I pay for my life.

01:49:31 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 10:

Wow. I'm going to change my answer if I can. Why are you getting a call back?

01:49:37 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 8:

So we should go out again. Sure, we'll figure something out.

01:49:41 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

01:49:43 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:43 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 10:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:47 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 9:

All this week, tickets to go to Lollapalooza at 7.30. Post Malone tickets at 8.30. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:49:55 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 8:

Well, this is pretty cool, and we knew she was going to do something like this. Taylor Swift.

01:50:00 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 2:

making a big, big donation to Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan while stopping at Ford Field over the weekend. Gleaners announcing that donation on Facebook, sharing a quote from Taylor that reads, no matter what happens in life, be good to people. And Gleaners wrote, these words ring true today with Taylor's surprise donation to Gleaners during her heiress tour stop in Detroit. Thank you for making an impact and empowering kids and families with nutritious food. And I don't know how much she donated exactly. I'm told it was a very generous donation, though.

01:50:33 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah, that's good. There's a lot of happy people today, right? I mean, I know that not everybody got a chance to go to the show, but it seemed like everybody seemed very happy with the performance. I've not heard one negative comment about her performance. It's unheard of in this world of people finding things to be unhappy about.

01:50:55 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 4:

And shout out to Owens. who performed for us live here with a couple of folks. How was that? He was great.

01:51:01 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 3:

Tony Travato usually doesn't like any music that's not with Ja Rule or Fat Joe in it. How is it that Tony Travato likes that song? I guess he went really crazy about it.

01:51:12 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 4:

The entire crowd held up their lights without him having to ask. It was great.

01:51:19 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 2:

Supermodel Irina Shaikh apparently made a beeline for Tom Brady during a wedding attended by a bunch of A-list celebrities recently. Tom and Irina, both guests at billionaire art heir Joe Neymond's wedding in Sardinia. Joey Neymond's wedding? I know, that's when I first read it. Not Joey Neymond's wedding. He got married a while ago. Former Mojo in the Morning show member. Joey and Tiansa's wedding? I did not know that. I don't know who this person is. I don't even know if I'm saying his name right, to be honest with you. But anyway, there was a big fancy wedding and lots of celebrities were there. And people were saying, at least the story was, that Irina was just like all over Tom Brady. She followed him around all weekend, and allegedly Tom told a friend that he was not interested in the Victoria's Secret supermodel romantically. They're just friends. Now, her manager is firing back at this rumor, saying this is totally fictional. She was there. Yes, he was there, but there was no throwing oneself at Tom Brady.

01:52:13 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Did you see what Tom Brady did over the weekend? That was incredible. He was on a yacht, and he—

01:52:19 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, with Mr. Beast. I have it.

01:52:21 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you do have it?

01:52:21 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 2:

You can play it. Yeah, play Mr. Beast.

01:52:23 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so he was on a yacht with Mr. Beast.

01:52:26 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 2:

Mr. Beast is like a really popular YouTuber, okay, if you don't know.

01:52:28 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 3:

And he got a football out, and Mr. Beast had his drone that was flying way out in the distance, and Tom Brady threw the football on the first try and nailed the drone.

01:52:39 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 1:

That's what I got paid for, Jimmy. Come on. I want to see if you can hit my drone out of the sky with a football. All right. If I hit the drone on the first try, maybe I should come out of retirement. I like that.

01:52:48 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 4:

I probably will miss.

01:52:51 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 1:

First try.

01:52:53 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 4:

Got it.

01:52:56 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 3:

Still got it. That's the GOAT right there, guys.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 4:

Right, Megan? Crazy.

01:53:00 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 3:

Don't have him.

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 4:

That's the GOAT.

01:53:03 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 3:

That's Taylor now, Tom. Megan, Taylor's the GOAT of music. He's the GOAT of sports. You are the GOAT of radio, Megan. Yeah, sure.

01:53:14 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 2:

The Denver Nuggets are one win away from their first NBA championship by beating the Miami Heat, 108-95 on Friday night to take a 3-1 lead in the title series. Game 5 is tonight in Denver, right? Yeah. And then was this happened, I believe, at Friday's game. MMA fighter Conor McGregor hit Bernie, the Miami Heat mascot for a PR stunt. Well, it was supposed to be a PR stunt, but he like clocked him so hard that he fell to the floor. Listen to the crowd's reaction. Yeah, it was all a stunt to plug Conor McGregor's pain relief spray. The Heat have a partnership with Conor, like, over this spray or whatever. And so the mascot was supposed to end up on the floor as part of the fake fight. But Conor's punch, like, was, that was real.

01:54:08 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

This is Dana White from the UFC.

01:54:11 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 1:

I wouldn't have professional fighters punching me in the face if I was a mascot. And that doesn't seem like the brightest thing in the world.

01:54:17 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 2:

Dude, the guy who was the mascot, the person in the mascot costume, went to the emergency room. Thankfully, is now resting at home and is okay.

01:54:25 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

What's the good-looking coach of the Miami Heat's name? Eric Spolstra. Eric Spolstra. It's the Miami Heat toughness that we're talking about. They should have been allowed to, you know, take the first swing. Isn't that amazing? Could you imagine the planning meeting for that? Hey, we want to get Conor McGregor to punch you in the head. Are you cool with that?

01:54:42 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 2:

But it was supposed to be protect. Like, it was choreographed a certain way. You know what I mean? But I don't know.

01:54:48 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 4:

Would Hooper do something like that? Hooper would do anything. Really? Yeah, he's the greatest in the NBA.

01:54:53 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 3:

Get punched by Conor McGregor. I don't know if I would do that.

01:54:57 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Nicki Minaj. was the victim of a swatting prank. The Sheriff's Department said a caller called 911, falsely claiming that Nikki's child was being abused and that her house was on fire. And Child Services got an anonymous call alleging child abuse at Nikki's L.A. home. So deputies got to her home. But after speaking to her and looking at their child, they determined there was no abuse. Everything was okay. And so deputies chalked it up to a swatting call and they want everyone to know that these sorts of calls are a huge waste of time and resources, so please don't do it. And then the same night, sources say another call came in, actually it was around 3 in the morning, to report that her house was on fire. So deputies went back to her house and realized that that was not the case. Everything was fine. So twice in one night. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointheworning.com.

01:55:52 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:55:57 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

we had a big moment happen to us earlier this morning on the air that you can go check out the mojo in the morning show podcast of you can actually go back and listen to it it's available right now including the second date update from earlier this morning megan announcing to everyone that she's become a swifty and of course this was a big one when we found out this morning on the show the gender of our new guy Kev's baby. Can you pass me the water, actually? No, stop. Come on. Well, you are Ryan Seacrest. We are having a baby girl!

01:56:42 - 01:56:43 | Unknown:

A baby girl!

01:56:45 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, we did have a conversation on Friday. I got my girl. Oh, my God. You got my girl.

01:56:57 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 3:

All right, so go back and listen to the podcast of that so you can hear it. So congratulations again to Kev and Sherelle and Josiah and Kev's fun mom and his 92-year-old grandma and Sherelle's family and everybody, all the friends that we got a chance to meet. It was so much fun. There's a few things that came out of being at the gender reveal, which was my very first gender reveal that I've ever gone to. Just a few things? There's a few things that came out of it, yes. Number one thing that came out of it was I want to go to a black church. Seriously, I feel like the church that Chelsea and I attend, the San Sit and Neal Catholic Church, is not as fun as hanging out with Kev's friends and some of his pastor buddies and stuff like that. It seems like it would be wild. I got you. Like, do we just literally just go, is it like a party when we're there too? Partying for Jesus. All right, so I want to do that. Number two, Cav's mom is a character, but I think she wants to, every now and again from some of the things that I've said on the radio or maybe I'm about to say on the radio, I think I'm going to get in trouble with her. Like, she told me to watch myself.

01:58:15 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 2:

You know she's listening.

01:58:16 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:58:17 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 2:

What did you say, by the way, to get that comment?

01:58:19 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was interesting. And she made Chelsea and myself and our friend Jessica all sit with her at the main table there.

01:58:25 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 2:

Just to keep an eye on you.

01:58:26 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 3:

And she held court at the table as she literally brought people by people over to meet us. And then they would come over and it would be like, this is my friend since I was in kindergarten. And she would sit down. It's a really nice lady. Her name was Montgomery. I think. What was that? We heard her last name. And she goes, okay, you can leave now. And then she'd be like, this is, you know, this is Kev's sister, you know, great, all right, go ahead. This is, which by the way, I loved your sister, by the way. She's such a sweetheart. I love Melinda. This is Kev's 92-year-old grandma. All right, you can go back to your seat now. She would do that whole thing. So she like held court, which was pretty cool. Number three thing that I learned was after the gender reveal and Kev and Sherelle and everybody in the family found out that Kev was having a girl, our friend Jessica, whose husband Will is like one of my best buds, Jessica told us on the way home that they had a gender reveal for their daughter and their gender reveal turned up to be kind of interesting. And if anybody's ever had this happen, you'll have to call us up. They did a thing where they had a pink baseball or a baseball with pink lacing on it and then a baseball with blue lacing on it. And they went to the doctor and they said to the doctor, whatever the gender is, you take the baseballs in the back, put the baseball in a box, and then we'll open up the box and see what the baseball is in the thing. Well, it turns out that the wrong... Baseball got put in there. So when they found out, and they were really wanting a girl. So they had already had Danny, their son, and they were hoping that they were going to have a daughter. You know, just like I think a lot of people want. That's like the.

02:00:11 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 1:

One of each. Yeah, one of each.

02:00:13 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 3:

So they open up the ball and they find the blue ball. Well, they got excited over this. They got excited. Oh, good. We're having a baby boy. This is cool. They post on social media. Well, they left the gender reveal. And Jessica is a very intuitive type person. her intuition was like this doesn't seem right and she went all day not feeling that way and will was like i don't understand what you're talking about and so she kept saying i really feel like i'm having a girl and i don't understand this so will goes well then call the doctor and just ask him for the the you know uh the sonogram or whatever it is that you needed they called the doctor and sure as crap she was right they were having a girl so the doctor or whoever the doctor Offers screwed up and put the wrong ball In there Well I think that this happens a bunch Where people actually will do this And it's usually what a friend or a family member Or somebody at the doctor's office that does it And I wanted to ask this question Not that I'm trying to wish upon Kevin To have this have happened to him But I guessed and I was the only person Actually me and Chelsea were the only people And maybe even Jessica too She was wearing the whole color We guessed that you were having a boy All right. Yes. So why did Jessica come dressed in pink? Well, she came dressed in pink because she knew that's what Sherelle wanted. So she was wishing it upon her. I love Jessica. But I wore pink and blue. So I actually had a pink shirt with blue shorts. Chelsea, I don't know what her deal was. She was wearing black. Or black and white or something like that. So when we had to guess, like you had to fill out a card to guess what it was, I think we were the only people in that entire place that guessed boys. And it was because the way that Sherelle is carrying, we always have heard that if you carry all right there in the front, that it's a boy. Where else do you carry? Well, no, usually with the girl, it's all over the place, right? Oh, yeah, with Lucy, I was a monster. And Sherelle doesn't look like it. Sherelle does not look like it's all over the place. And I've seen Sherelle before. Now, they did not. They don't know what Sherelle looked like not pregnant.

02:02:22 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that being the one to being the one in charge of the gender reveal, because I never knew what I was having until they, you know, I pushed him out. But I've done it for friends before and I would safeguard that envelope with my life. But like you check and double check and triple check and quadruple check that you are giving them, like in my friend Angie's case, the right like smoke bomb thing for them to take, you know, on vacation with them. to do i i mean i was so terrified i was gonna do it wrong so that's like in the case of the baseball that's why i'm like how does that happen how do you not check and check and check and check

02:03:00 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 3:

again and again hey will hi mojo well tell us when when you guys found out that the wrong ball was given for the birth of you know uh sloan your daughter and they gave the boy balls yeah what

02:03:15 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 2:

did what did the doctors say well it was it was just saying you know i'm not sure how i have this intuition i don't think it's i just don't think we're having a boy yeah i explained i explained that so she and i was like okay and i go up there like you know i was working from home in sales at the time and i show up there in a suit i'm like i need the results they're like for who explained there hands it over and they're like oh we're sorry we're sorry that happened i don't know how that how that happened i go you know when you see the results on the test when it says gender male or female and then you know it's like you're having a boy you put the blue one in and the girl it's the pink one i was like they're like yeah like okay and i didn't want to make a scene in an ob office but i was like guys that's something you can't get wrong right so do you If you're going to paint a room, you're going to buy presents, you might have a baby shower, maybe the ultrasound tech doesn't look closely, and maybe it's a month or two before the next one, and it's like, you could just go without license.

02:04:21 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you have the ultrasound? Have you looked at the ultrasound, Kevin? No, Kevin, I'm going to make sure, because Kevin's having a girl. That's what the gender reveal showed. Do you have it? What do you mean? Do you have the ultrasound? No, do you have, yeah, like the ultrasound that says that you're having a girl? No, I haven't seen it yet. What up, Will?

02:04:40 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

What up? yeah no i haven't seen it yet it's i uh you know it's like would you would you bet the farm that it's a a girl and it's like well do you see the paper i don't know yeah text message should we

02:04:54 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

02:05:13 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 1:

02:05:22 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 2:

You would have been disappointed A little bit Sherelle

02:05:26 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 3:

Hi Congratulations Thank you

02:05:30 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 2:

Sherelle I don't want to be Debbie Downer On this one here Uh oh But we were talking about That sometimes somebody screws up Who was the responsible party That had to put the pink Inside of those Cannon things That you guys lit off

02:05:46 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 5:

My friend Jessica

02:05:47 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 2:

And do we know If Jessica's responsible enough And is she colorblind

02:05:52 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 5:

or not colorblind she is not colorblind okay so she's and she's responsible yes she's very

02:05:59 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 2:

responsible that's why she was selected for sure okay have you looked at since you found out that you're having a girl have you looked at the sonogram that shows whether or not it is a boy or a girl you know what i have not right we gotta do this you got it because you heard i just told the story about will and jessica that they gave them the wrong ball they gave them they did it with a baseball, and they gave him the wrong ball. I want to make sure that we got, we know for a fact here before then, you know, because this guy over here, he's like walking around calling himself a girl dad

02:06:31 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 1:

and doing all this stuff. Sure, sure. What did I tell you to give me grace for if it's blue? Like, how did I,

02:06:37 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 5:

what did I say? No, he literally was like, I might be one of those viral people that goes on TikTok that has a stank face because he was going to be disappointed. He really wanted a girl.

02:06:49 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Text Jessica now. We need the

02:06:51 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 3:

the picture yeah oh wait so she does still have all the paperwork yeah no so my doctor

02:06:57 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 5:

everything was actually digital so she was able to log into my medical chart and she found out the results yes and she saw the g and not the b she said 99.9 okay all right i'm just

02:07:13 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

making sure on that hold on one sec hold on one sec you may not hear this person because they're going to talk on you're on my phone but grace what's up hi so when i was pregnant with my

02:07:22 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 4:

second child um my doctor did the ultrasound and then i ended up passing out at and he told me it was a boy and i didn't want to know but he accidentally told me i ended up passing out at work went to the hospital got a new doctor because my doctor went on a sabbatical and the new doctor said do you know what you're having i said well unfortunately the other doctor told me it was a boy, you said, are you sure about that? And I said, yeah. I had already bought everything for this baby. And it was a girl.

02:07:52 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. How do you mess something up like that? I don't know. You can't mess that up. Don't mess it up. That's amazing. I know. By the way, do not get mad at me. It's like, what do they always say? Don't shoot the messenger. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just saying double check, triple check on this one. Siobhan, what did you want to say?

02:08:15 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 3:

My sister, it happened to her as well. She was supposed to have a little girl named Christina her whole pregnancy. She delivered, and she popped out a boy. We had to go and take everything back the same night that she had the baby to make it a boy's room.

02:08:30 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Isn't that crazy? On the night that she had the baby, you figured that out?

02:08:36 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, she had the baby, and he came out a boy. But it was supposed to be a girl the whole time.

02:08:41 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 2:

Was the doctor the one that screwed it up, the one delivering? I would have been like, you dumb son of a bitch.

02:08:46 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It was the ultrasound lady, I guess. I have no idea, but my mother was pissed.

02:08:53 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. All right. Well, thank you for the call. Now, let me just say this. I want you to know this. If you find out that it is a boy, it wasn't me that willed it this way. All right? Because I wore pink and blue to make sure that that was the case.

02:09:09 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 5:

You did. Thank you so much for coming.

02:09:12 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. No problem. I appreciate it. I've never been invited to a gender reveal party before. I knew it. What? I got him. What? Shirelle, let me just tell you this. Mike invited me and the crew to his gender reveal, and it just so happened that he invited us, and there was like a crazy day, and we didn't come to the gender reveal, and he was very upset with us for not coming to the gender reveal. For like a year. I'm over it now. So as soon as I said that I went to your gender reveal this weekend, the listeners were all texting, Oh, don't tell Mike Don't tell Mike that you were there I've been with the show long enough to expect it now Listen, Mike, if you have On your next baby, I will come to your gender reveal No, I'm done, man

02:09:53 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 3:

We should have a no more birthdays party After you have your vasectomy

02:09:57 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes Okay, what's that?

02:10:00 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

I will come to that.

02:10:00 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 2:

No more birthday. You're not going to be celebrating any more kid birthdays.

02:10:03 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 4:

We'll serve little cocktail weenies that are cut in half. What do you think about that? Oh, this is a question for you. After you guys have, well, I don't know. You don't have the name for the baby. You're not going to tell us right now. But after you have a baby girl, will Kevin also go get a vasectomy too? Or are you guys planning on more kids?

02:10:26 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 1:

I think more.

02:10:27 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 4:

More kids. Okay. All right. because I was going to say what? Did you say what? No, I said why not? Oh, okay, all right.

02:10:34 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, he also said I'm not sniffing nothing.

02:10:37 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 4:

I think because I was going to say two for one. Mike, can you hold off for a little bit before you do yours? No, no, no, no, because I can't go near my wife right now. I think it would be funny to have you in one bed and Kevin in the other bed and both of you guys having your balls exposed to each other. Just holding hands. Getting snipped. That's what you thought about right there? I think that would be fun. cherelle congratulations to you thank you all right you love you take care of yourself

02:11:02 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 1:

get the password so we can make sure of the gender too yeah yeah i'm telling you you seriously should

02:11:07 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 4:

look at that now i don't want to put it in the air but annika what's up hey guys congratulations

02:11:13 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 1:

thank you um i with your you saying that you would have been disappointed and uh going viral on tiktok if it had been a boy um i texted in that that's exactly why my husband and i found out privately the gender of both our pregnancies um and i did cry no offense to my son or the one that i'm pregnant with right now um but i did cry both times because they it turned Now, they were both boys. But we did, like, a little gender reveal with my first, with just, like, my parents and, like, a couple friends. But otherwise, we found out, just the two of us, in private, because I would have gone viral.

02:12:00 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Wait, do you feel like there's going to be some kind of therapy your kids are going to have to go into later in life when they find out that you guys both were upset over what you were having?

02:12:09 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 1:

um no because we obviously love both of them very much um and i know my mom when she got pregnant with my older brother uh she didn't know if she would be able to have more than one kid and so she was very upset that he was a boy and now he's the favorite child so okay all right

02:12:30 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 4:

they all thought i was going to be a girl when i was a kid they really yeah and that was the thing

02:12:35 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

They thought I was going to be a boy No my parents had a boy name picked out No girl name They were so sure

02:12:42 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 4:

They did for me and the same thing they did not have a boy name picked out And they actually named me at first And then they changed my name because they didn't like the name

02:12:49 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Wait what were you named?

02:12:50 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 4:

I was supposed to be Brian Which by the way I would have been a horrible Brian

02:12:55 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah that does not fit you at all

02:12:56 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 4:

It's like the worst But it was wild but my sisters all said that they all thought I was a girl And they had girls outfits And they actually put me in the girls outfits afterwards because they thought oh they wanted to see what the baby because you know when you're a baby you know you kind of like whatever you look like anything yeah i bet girl mojo would have come to my gender reveal i knew it oh i'm sorry mojo in the morning show megan was in town all weekend long she was hanging out uh at the taylor concerts and then also did pride yesterday And Megan, the response for you at Pride, I don't know if you're reading any of the tweets and the texts at Mojo in the Mourner on our text at 95500. Everybody talked about how beautiful you looked at Pride yesterday.

02:13:41 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 2:

You did look beautiful. That's amazing, guys.

02:13:43 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 4:

Megan always looks beautiful. So with Megan going and being away from home came the opportunity for her brother to slip in as favorite child.

02:13:55 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm so upset about it, you guys. He's trying to steal my place. And quite honestly, I'm, I'm, I'm not even, I'm not mad at my brother. No, I am mad at my brother. I'm disappointed in my father. I'm not mad at him. I am disappointed because my father has decided that I am no longer the favorite child. And honestly, that's been my whole personality for so long and my family dynamic that I don't know who I am anymore. And I know what you're like, what, it was one weekend. What happened? How, how could everything change so drastically in one weekend? And I just found out that my brother got a key to my dad's apartment. And for the past year, I've been the only one with the key because I was the only one that was trusted. And now my brother has one. And I feel disrespected. I feel less than. I feel not as important. I actually thought you didn't even have a key. No, I do have a key. Okay. Yeah. I have a key. I stop by his place all the time. I read his fridge. Please. I don't buy groceries. I stop by his house. Also, I know where he keeps everything. like all of the fun stuff and I go steal that.

02:15:00 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

like parking meter money because he's got a jar of quarters by his front door and when I have no money for the parking meters downtown I run up to his place and I steal quarters. That's what I do. That's what I do. He also, I love my father to show that I am the favorite. He does stock my favorite foods in his fridge and I will go there on my lunch break because it's two blocks from our station and I will eat all of my favorite foods. He'll text me, did you stop here for lunch? I'm like, yes, I did. Thank you. Thank you for the food. So I found out my brother has a key and I I lost my spit this weekend. I was so upset about it. And my brother was like, I don't see what the big deal is. I said, well, you don't understand the superiority I had over you for so long. And he told me, well, I only got it so I had a place to poop downtown. He did not get a key to take care of my father's place, to go spend time with my dad. No, no, no, no. He just wanted access to a bathroom. And my father caved for that man.

02:15:58 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 1:

But wait a second. You just told us all the stuff that you use your father's key for, and it doesn't sound like it's any different than your brother pooping.

02:16:05 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 2:

But I'm the favorite, so I get away with it.

02:16:09 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 1:

You're eating his food and probably pooping there, too.

02:16:12 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes. But, okay, who's also the girl that goes to the farmer's market with him every weekend and carries his groceries back to his apartment? No, my brother. Me. Who's the one that goes out to dinner with my dad like three times a week? No, my brother. Me. Who's the one that cleans up after my dad's apartment when he's traveling for weeks on end? Again, not my brother. Me.

02:16:34 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 1:

What happens if, what would you do if you thought this happened? Your brother with that hot little girlfriend of his going there and using the apartment and pretending like they're playing house in the thing.

02:16:45 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, to be fair with that view, I'd like to have relations in front of me. I get it. I get it.

02:16:51 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 1:

Would you ever think about bringing a guy back to your dad's apartment if you knew your dad wasn't around?

02:16:55 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's enough pictures of me hanging up to be like, this is my place. I know where the pods and pans are. I know where the silverware is. We're going to make it. And all of his TVs are logged into my Amazon account, so it's going to look like that. Wait a second.

02:17:08 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of boyfriends and girlfriends, did you end up meeting your dad's girlfriend this weekend? I did not, unfortunately. Oh, dang it, because I knew there was a possibility it could have happened. At this point, I think she might be imaginary.

02:17:18 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she's just made up.

02:17:19 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I saw a picture of her. I don't know if any of you guys have. She is real cute.

02:17:24 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 1:

How did you get a chance to die?

02:17:26 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

She's real cute.

02:17:27 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 1:

Who showed you?

02:17:28 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 3:

Megan. Send it to the group chat. Can I tell you? My dad, he pulled out of his league. Yeah. No, I actually don't agree with that because you know I think your dad's hot. But she's hot too. She's hot. Yeah.

02:17:40 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 1:

Are there any listeners of ours that use the whole key thing as a, this will show me that they really love me? Like, whether it be like a guy or a girl giving you a key to their place or in this case with like your parent giving you a key to their place or having access to their place. That is a kind of a I don't know. A symbol?

02:18:02 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Superiority.

02:18:03 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 1:

A superiority, yes. Thank you. Thing in relationships where you feel like that's the case. And the other question is, I got it in my head right now. Could you imagine, would you ever, if you were single, bring back somebody to your parent out your mom or dad's place and aft in there, would you? Yeah. You would? Yeah. I've done it before. But this smells like your parents there.

02:18:30 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 2:

It's nicer furniture.

02:18:33 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah. I don't want to have that. I don't want to think about that. I don't want to think about my kids going to my house and doing that stuff. I don't know. You don't have to think about it, but they did. I know they did.

02:18:49 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 3:

Didn't Joe admit that he did?

02:18:50 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 1:

He did.

02:18:51 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:18:51 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 1:

He admitted some dirty, very dirty things.

02:18:54 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 3:

Yes, he did.

02:18:54 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Like, he had his own bedroom, too, but he didn't want to bring him up to his bedroom because he had Michael Jordan posters still hanging on the wall. And he thought that it seemed really weird that he was doing it. And I said, well, yeah, good. Because in our room, we have, like, pictures of your grandparents and stuff like that. You know what I mean? Like, how dare you do stuff like that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Question for KP, Lydia, and everybody, like, you know, the... Oh, and Misfit Steve, who lives with his sister and brother-in-law. Misfit Steve, you ever bring girls back to your sister and brother-in-law's place, the place that you live, and do you ever go into the master bedroom when they're not around? Only when they're not there. And does your sister have any idea that you've done this? She does now. You're going to get kicked out of that place. Yeah, you are. But does it not weird you out to know that your sister and your brother-in-law are in there and your sister's like you know enjoying herself in that bed and you just went there i don't use their bed i use my bed oh

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 2:

So you go to the, okay, but that's what I mean. You don't go in their room, right, to make it look like it's your place.

02:20:07 - 02:20:08 | Unknown:

What'd you say?

02:20:08 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 2:

You don't make it look like it's your place. Is it weird, by the way, to bring a girl back to your sister's place and say, I live with my sister, or does that ever get awkward?

02:20:17 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 4:

It's super weird because there's a lot of my nephew and niece's toys around.

02:20:22 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 1:

I forgot about that.

02:20:23 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 3:

Do they think it's yours? Do they think you have a child?

02:20:28 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 1:

He's just coming in there.

02:20:28 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 3:

He's coming in there? Do they think you have a child when they see that?

02:20:32 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 4:

No, I explain everything to them. I'm like, hey, I lived in New York. I had to move back because of the pandemic. I'm super poor. I'm living with my sister. Now would you like to have sex with me? Now would you like to have sex with me?

02:20:44 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 2:

It works 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time, they've already run out of the place. Yeah, they're gone. Long gone. Marvin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:20:55 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 5:

How you doing?

02:20:56 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's happening?

02:20:58 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 5:

Nothing. So, it was 4th of July, like, two years ago, and my cousin brought over his girlfriend to my sister's house. And it was, like, you know, when the fireworks were happening, him and his girlfriend went in the bathroom, and they kind of left the door wide, like, you know, like, creaked a little bit. And my 4-year-old nephew walked in on them, just going to town.

02:21:19 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Oh, my God.

02:21:21 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so, my sister was not.

02:21:24 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 2:

That would be a fear. That could happen with Steve. Could you imagine that with Misfit Steve? He could actually have his little nephew.

02:21:34 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, no, please, no. Yeah, it was bad. They're not allowed back over.

02:21:39 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:21:40 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 5:

Uncle Steve, what you doing?

02:21:44 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 2:

By the way, he is the greatest uncle in the world, too. I can only imagine this poor guy. Could you do us a favor? Do you have any phone numbers of the girls that you've met over time that you brought back there? And could we call them back and do a second date update with them? We could probably do that Look at some numbers and let's find out Wouldn't you guys want to know what their thoughts were Absolutely Yeah, so I went inside I walked inside his place and I was like Wow, this guy's got a Do you have a niece and nephew, right?

02:22:13 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so 10 and 8

02:22:15 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so old enough To know what's going on

02:22:19 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, but again I don't bring anyone Over when people are home

02:22:25 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 2:

so like it's usually when they're out of town or working right yes and they're in your niece and nephew are at daycare yes oh my god call some of these people don't judge me get no no we're judging you i think this is wonderful though because he's like the nicest guy in the world and i can just picture hey hey guys we're gonna come back hey we're gonna go into my this is my sister and brother-in-law's place they're really nice people and what they're gonna do is they're not gonna to be here, but you're going to see, like, a bunch of toys and stuff.

02:22:59 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 1:

Your impression is really great.

02:23:01 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 2:

And if you want, we can even play my nephew's video game after. Wait, did I tell you that? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Alright, we'll get you caught up on what's going on, what's trending, big weekend. Crazy, isn't it?

02:23:19 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift. That's all I heard. Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift.

02:23:22 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 2:

120,000 people saw Taylor Swift, but yet they say that more than a million people potentially were in our area just for Taylor Swift.

02:23:31 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and lots of celebrities actually hanging out at our shows at Ford Field over the weekend, including Flavor Play, Blake Lively. Some of her daughters were hanging out on Saturday night. Taylor's mom, Andrea, was there taking tons of photos, selfies with fans all weekend. It was fun. But this is a crazy story. So an Indiana man arrested for stalking Taylor at her home in Nashville. And this is not a recent thing. This has been going on since March. So police began investigating this guy back in March after he sent photos of just weapons to Taylor's management team. Super scary. Five days later, he messaged Taylor's dad and went on this rant about how he was Taylor's soulmate. That same day, he called the offices of several state governors and left them voicemails that he was running for president. And his campaign was going to be part of her era's door. So obviously something very wrong with this gentleman. Over the next month, he posted videos threatening Taylor, said at one point he was going to wear a bomb on his chest when he went to one of her shows. And then on May 5th, it got real scary. He drove to Taylor's home in Nashville, snuck in through an unlocked door, which I don't know how he did that. But he came face to face with a security guard at one point and said he was a great looking, well-dressed, popular TV host who was there to see Taylor. They obviously knew that was not the case. Called the police. The guy escaped before police could apprehend him. He went to Taylor's show the next night. Sat in plain view of her management before being kicked out of the venue by security. He made several more threatening videos in May, so last month, before being arrested just a couple of days ago. So he is officially now being charged with stalking by threatening serious injury or death.

02:25:17 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

You know what's unbelievable is that she's got to be the most stalked celebrity. You hear the stories all the time about these stalkers that have gotten into her place. Would you want the fame for that? Like, I feel horrible for her that she's, here she is. She's got this always happening to her. In your whole life, you have to, like, it's like the movie The Bodyguard, you know? Constant security. Man, oh, man. Megan, you and I talked about that. And you actually, when we were talking about Friday's show, you were like, I don't know if I would want to deal with this.

02:25:48 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 1:

No, I wouldn't want to live my life in constant fear. And I can't imagine that she's not living her life that way. Yeah, yeah. White Lotus creator Mike White is teasing a prequel, a prequel that could potentially star Jennifer Coolidge. And I don't want to spoil anything for you, but this would be big because there's no other way that she could go on with the show. But Mike and Jennifer were at the City Film Festival over the weekend when he floated the idea of exploring some of her character Tanya's past in a prequel series. She is totally on board with the show already having taken place in Hawaii and Sicily and soon-to-be Thailand for season three, where could the Tanya-focused prequel go? Jennifer Coolidge says Australia gets her vote. Megan Fox is calling out former congressional candidate Robbie Starbuck after he claimed that she forces her sons with actor Brian Austin Green to wear girls' clothes. He called it child abuse. Did you hear about this story over the weekend? Saw this everywhere. So Megan Fox writes, I don't want to give you this attention because clearly you're a clout chaser, But let me teach you something. Regardless of how desperate you may become at any given time to acquire wealth, power, success, or fame, never use children as leverage or social currency. She wrote, I have been burned at the stake by insecure, narcissistic, impotent little men like you many times. And I am still here. And she said, you effed with the wrong witch. And basically, you know, she's always been very open about the importance of letting her boys express themselves through their style. I know at one point she told Glamour Magazine her son Noah started wearing dresses when he was about two. And she was always like, if this is what you want to wear out, you know, I'm all for you expressing yourself, she said. And that doesn't have anything to do with your sexuality. And so she's just pointing the finger at this guy saying, stop using my children to prove your point, especially since you're wrong. And lastly, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElnaney. Is that how you say his last name? I have such a hard time. Okay. They're apologizing to Wrexham fans after jokingly suggesting that the name of the soccer team that they co-own would be changed. They shared a graphic recently that said Wrexham United. And later, they explained what Wrexham United actually means.

02:28:09 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 3:

When we tweeted Wrexham United, we forgot to include a super important ampersand.

02:28:13 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I should have read Wrexham and United because Wrexham is going to be sponsored by United Airlines.

02:28:18 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, now we will not now, nor will we ever change the name of the club.

02:28:22 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 4:

We would never do that. It's probably illegal anyway. It's not illegal. It should be. Yeah. Let's make it illegal. Okay. We can do that legally.

02:28:27 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 1:

We are very sorry for the confusion. So there you go. No name change. Just has to do with a little sponsorship that they're doing.

02:28:34 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

Can I do the top three songs for this weekend? Absolutely. So these are our top three most requested songs on Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM. See if you find a pattern here. Coming in at number three. Taylor Swift, an anti-hero. The number two most requested song from the weekend, Taylor Swift, All Too Well.

02:29:18 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 5:

And the most requested song from this weekend, can you guess?

02:29:35 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

Anyone? If you said Morgan Wallen, you were wrong. Oh, I was going to say, no way. Karma was the most requested song.

02:29:48 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 6:

And the funny thing is, I'm getting calls right now from people because they think.

02:30:00 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 1:

I think that we're doing the Two for Taylor contest, thinking that we're still sending. Which, by the way, 92.5 KISS FM is giving away a trip to go to Cincinnati, as Megan calls it, Cincinnati, to see Taylor Swift. So you can listen to them on the iHeartRadio app or on 92.3 KISS FM if you're in the area. Go ahead, Shannon.

02:30:19 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 2:

92.5. Or 92.5.

02:30:21 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 1:

What did I say? 92.3, but it's 92.5. 92.2. On my radio, it's like that. It doesn't come in for some reason. and I have to smack the radio dial or something.

02:30:30 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 2:

All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

02:30:34 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 1:

02:31:03 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, my daughter was going on Saturday night, and actually at the very last minute, our sweet boss Tony called and said, I have an extra pair of tickets. Can you use them? But I was in the middle of still getting her ready, and I had plans with my little guy, Smith. And so I was just so frazzled in the moment. And I'm like, I can't, I can't make it down there. I can't pull myself together and get her where she needs to be and get down there and get dressed. And I hadn't even showered yet.

02:31:30 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 1:

Tony had asked people in the meeting last week on, was it Tuesday or Monday or whatever? I don't even remember what day it was. But he had asked, he said, you know, I don't know if I can get anybody tickets. It's really hard to get tickets. But if you want tickets, you get it. And I think you had said something about how Friday night and Saturday night you knew that we were going to be out there doing broadcast. You didn't want to have a babysitter two nights in a row. So I think that what ended up happening was there was a possibility of tickets on Friday, but because you didn't want a babysitter for both nights.

02:31:59 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:31:59 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 1:

And then I think he was trying to get you tickets because he felt bad that you didn't go. I know.

02:32:02 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 2:

He's the best boss. I'm super weird about putting the kids with the babies. So my ex-husband and I do week on, week off with the kids. And so if I have them for a weekend, I'm not putting them with a babysitter two nights in a row. And I had them with a babysitter on Friday. So anyway.

02:32:15 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 1:

You know what I would like to know is I told you guys earlier this morning, but Engineer Randy went. Yeah.

02:32:21 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 2:

I heard that, and I love that.

02:32:22 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 1:

With his daughter. Is Randy around? Hold on a second. That makes me really happy. Can we call him real quick? That would be good. I just want to see if Randy is here right now. Because I would like to get a review from Randy the engineer. Because in all the years that I've worked with Randy, and Randy has been our engineer, for those that don't know this, the man is a very hard worker but has to be on call 24-7. I was wondering. I'm dialing him right now. You are dialing him? Okay. I was going to dial him in a cell. Go ahead, call him, dial him up, put him on hold Let's see We will pick up, I want to get a review from Randy In all the years I've known him I did not even know that Randy had a daughter That was a Taylor Swift fan Like I don't, it's crazy to think That I've worked at this building here For so long I didn't even know Randy had children Until like a couple, a few years back ago

02:33:13 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Your call has been Forwarded to an automatic

02:33:16 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second, I'm going to dial him on my cell phone You think Randy will pick up?

02:33:20 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 2:

He would know that that was our number two

02:33:22 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 1:

I just want, well I don't know, I want a review of the show I want to find out The only thing better would have been Mark McEvich Taking Randy's daughter to the concert Mark's the other engineer Could you imagine? Hello, it's Randy Randall, does anybody ever call you Randall at all, Randy? Sometimes My dad when he's mad at me Randy, I had zero idea First off, I knew you had family But I did not know how old your children were I did not know that you had a Taylor Swift fan In that house of yours I do yes And did you escort your daughter To the Taylor Swift concert on Saturday I did

02:34:01 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god how much fun did you guys have

02:34:04 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 1:

We're on the radio right now We're on the radio That was my question Now I want the truth Now I want to know the truth Randy How it was I was wonderful

02:34:18 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 2:

can you hear us randy or are your ears still come on randy i want to say thank you so

02:34:26 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 1:

yep i'm a swifty now i want i want to know what it was like to escort your daughter with a bunch of screaming daughters and moms there as a dad it was an experience at any point during the concert were you hoping that the tower uh for uh wjlb would have gone down and you would have had to leave and go out there to take care of it? No, I wouldn't have been able to hear my phone anyway. Were you like the dad of the year, though, when you told her that Tony had some tickets? um yeah i don't know about for the year but for the week yeah listen i'm gonna say this randy i don't know anybody here that has to put their family on hold for as much as you do and and we appreciate all that you do for us and what you do for all of our stations but honestly that is such a cool thing that you got to do that and your daughter will never forget that opportunity yeah yeah i think you're right yeah that is such a cool thing man tony travato um was so excited about this that he had told me reached out and he said you know what next time you see randy he goes tell tell randy that you heard he went to the show and he said and i said i'll do one better than that we're gonna make randy now go on taylor's world tour and randy you're traveling across the country to now go on the rest of the taylor swift concert

02:35:54 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, great.

02:35:58 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Try to contain that excitement. Try. Much thanks to Tony.

02:36:06 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 1:

Actually, you know what, Rainey? You should next time, if this happens where your daughter has, like, her favorite that's coming to town, make Uncle Mark take your daughter. That's a good idea. Uncle Mark Makovich have to be there. Oh, God, that's awesome. Hey, good job, Dad. I think that's awesome. You know what? Listen, you do a lot for your family, and I know you do a lot for us, but I promise you, just knowing my kids and stuff and the position they're in, they never forget moments like that, Randy. Yeah, I know. I agree. Good for you, buddy. I'll talk to you later, man. Hey, thanks. Everything's working in the studio, including the HVAC. I know. We're not sweating. We're not freezing.

02:36:49 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 3:

That's what I like to hear.

02:36:50 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. We'll talk to you later, buddy. See you.

02:36:52 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 3:

Bye. Bye. We just jinxed ourselves with that, though.

02:36:55 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 1:

I know. Honestly, that is so cool. Because, guys, I always tell you this. As a parent, you know, or as a person, and if you have children, you could be the greatest of the great. You know, you could actually have it where you are, you know, highly successful at what you do. But when your kids look up to you or feel like you've done something amazing for them because you are their parent, I know this. I know you know Shannon this Cav you know this Mike you know this There is no greater feeling in the world Than when your child's truly appreciative Of what you did And that's a cool thing Core memory

02:37:37 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah man this weekend You guys helped make that whole experience For Cecily who came to the concert Like everybody at SNX Everybody in the studio at Mojo in the morning Everybody that went to the concert Everybody that said hi to her Everybody, every single person made that entire experience absolutely amazing for her. And so thank you. Cecily was incredible. From the high five.

02:38:03 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 3:

The pictures, the video. To the friendship bracelets.

02:38:07 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 2:

To helping us out at the table. Listeners, everything. Kept commenting on the video of Megan and Mojo and Cecily and I singing. I forget what song we were singing. You belong to me. You belong with me. I guess there's a moment in it where she looks at me. And I don't see that because I just look at the video I see her kind of look at me every day I don't really notice those things But I guess she looks at me And you can just see the pure joy and love in that moment And Mojo captured that moment That was really cool It was just really cool to see that So thank you guys very much

02:38:35 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, it was cool And Shannon, Lucy got a chance to go with her friends on Saturday

02:38:41 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 3:

Lucy got a chance to go with an incredible family that took her And some of her, all her little girlfriends and my girlfriend Lindsay and I were those annoying moms that just wouldn't leave because we were both so emotional that we were not going with our daughters to their first concert. So I actually feel kind of bad about it. It is funny, but we were supposed to drop them off at this family's home at like 4.30, 5 o'clock, and then the girls were all going to get ready together and get on a party bus to head downtown. And so my friend Lindsay and her daughter Ava and then lucy and smith we all drove together to this house and when we got there lucy like beelined it right to go upstairs to be with all her friends and like you know do their hair and makeup or whatever um and my friend all of a sudden like we're supposed to drop them and go and my friend all of a sudden disappears into this family's home and she's like sending me pictures from inside i'm like lindy what are you doing we're supposed to just drop them off like we weren't even supposed to go inside we're supposed to drop them off and go and she's like i am going to stay here until this bus leaves and she she had brought with her like a bag of um decorations for the bus like this was actually kind of genius she had like banners and light up balloons and little things that said hooray and she's like start blowing all this stuff up with me and we're gonna go and

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 2:

put it on the bus and just stay as long as we can so we could see the girls leave. So it's like 5.30 and we're still there. Mind you, we were supposed to drop them off and leave, but just trying to squeeze out every second of the moment being super annoying, I'm sure.

02:40:13 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 1:

Because you want to be able to experience it and obviously tickets were hard to come by.

02:40:17 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:40:18 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 1:

But are you also, are you and Lindsay, are you the same parents that when your daughter or your son is invited to a birthday party, You go and you stay at the party The entire time And have to sit there and eat the pizza That's like the free pizza for the kids

02:40:34 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

With Smith I do because he's still little With Loose I drop and go Bye girl But not this It was just like such a special moment for her So there we are Blowing up balloons in the driveway While the parents are still getting ready

02:40:49 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 1:

What did the parent of the kid that was taking All your kids to the concert What did they think when you guys were all hanging out

02:40:56 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 2:

I mean, they told us that it was cool what we were doing and it was sweet, but I'm sure inside they were like, will you guys go home already?

02:41:05 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 1:

They were like.

02:41:07 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 2:

We like made friends with the party bus driver.

02:41:11 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 1:

What was it?

02:41:12 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 2:

We were those moms.

02:41:13 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 1:

For Lucy, when she was going to the concert, what was it like for her to know that she had got an opportunity to go and be there and to see this Taylor? This was her big concert

02:41:27 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 2:

This was her very first concert

02:41:28 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 1:

What did she say when she came home? She said

02:41:31 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh she was so excited And she said that her ear She was scared she wasn't going to be able to hear normal again Because you know It's so loud inside Ford Field And she had no voice at all Because she had been screaming and singing It was so cute She was so excited

02:41:49 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 1:

I think that this is the one time Where you go Even if you don't like Taylor Swift And I'm not going to say to you guys That I'm a huge Taylor Swift music fan I know there's probably Four songs that I sit there and go Oh I like that song Whatever the deal is She's got catalogs upon catalogs There was a couple eras that I was happy I could sit down during I was like When she did that whole era Where she had the trees It was like Harry Potter And then she had the one Even with the snake one I'm like okay I'm going to sit down for this one And, like, he's got a little, or behind the piano, I'm like, oh, can please people sit down for a second? I'm tired. But there are a couple of moments where I'm, like, going, oh, my God. Like, just witness these kids and these parents. Incredible. With, like, I can't take that away from them. Like, I don't, you know what I mean?

02:42:41 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I got to witness it because there was one person I follow on Facebook who live streamed or, like, she was on Facebook live the entire concert.

02:42:51 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:42:52 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

So, like, anytime I, like, dipped back in, you know, to see what was going on, like, I could just go click on her page and see it. Which I didn't know if you were supposed to do that or not, but she was.

02:42:59 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 1:

I was driving down to go do our broadcast on Friday, and I was listening to 97.1, the sports station. And I was listening to Mike Fellaini talking about, I don't get it. This is horrible. This is crazy. Why would somebody spend this money? Why is, you know, he's hating on it like he hates on, you know, Michigan football and basketball and all the rest of it. He hates on everything. And I'm listening to this thing going I agree with you Mike I agree with you Mike I'm sitting there the whole time Like as the fan or agreeing After the concert was over I almost wanted to call him up And say Dude you gotta go witness it for yourself Now I get it And you gotta see it Because there was something about it That I sat there And I go I can't I can't take away The thing that she does To the people that are in the audience

02:43:45 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 2:

Well it's a core memory Like I looked at Lucy's face When she came home And even you know My friend was sending me photos during the show And I'm like, I will never forget She will never forget this It is a poor memory

02:43:56 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 1:

It is truly one of those things Where you'll, as a grown woman, go I remember when My mom stayed at this person's house The entire time And wouldn't leave

02:44:09 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 2:

She already called me the most embarrassing mom And I really took the trophy that night

02:44:16 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Janelle is Janelle's on with us right now You know who Janelle is, guys? Janelle is the Mojo in the Morning listener that went out to Taylor, Michigan to go and win tickets from Trailer Swift and the workday. Or the weekday. The weekday. Unable. Janelle, you in that cutie pie of yours, right?

02:44:40 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Claire, my daughter.

02:44:42 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

God, Claire, can I play something for somebody real quick? Or for somebody, for everybody? This is a video of Claire that you took at the concert. And I don't know if you'll be able to witness or hear this. Her giggle from enjoyment of being there. Take a listen to this. Hold on a second here. Hold on. I got to get.

02:45:00 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 2:

that I got to get you to play on the little speaker system here. You two look so great.

02:45:07 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you did. I know the video you did was so cute.

02:45:10 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 2:

The hearts around the eyes. That was incredible. Oh, we went all out. Yeah, hold on a second. Wait, where is it at? Hold on a second here.

02:45:18 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 3:

New Mojo.

02:45:19 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hold on, hold on. That one played. Oh, there you go. Here you go. Here it is. you can't the video i'm sorry the video she she does a silent one her giggle is so unbelievable and her excitement her excitement is unbelievable hold on this is really bad we love you mojo yeah i thought i thought if i thought it had audio to it but honestly i had chills when

02:45:45 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 5:

i watched that that uh janelle she had a great time i mean she's she's gonna remember this for

02:45:52 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 2:

the rest of her life what was as a mom what what did it like we always try to put ourselves in a position with our kids where we go I remember when I experienced something like this what was the closest thing that you could even tell me that you experienced when you were Claire's age

02:46:08 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 5:

that that you know would be to this oh gosh um honestly uh I remember at her age having a field trip and my mom surprising me at the field trip and it was just so cool that she was there with me to experience this field trip to this whatever museum museum it was so it was just i and this was kind of like that i mean on a much bigger scale but she was um i think experiencing it with me i mean i we had the best time just singing and dancing and uh making that memory with each other And it was unlike any other experience I've ever had with her.

02:46:50 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 2:

It's when you think that your parent is a superhero. You know what I mean? Like it's when you think of that moment of like your mom showing up at your field trip and surprising you where you're like, oh, my God. Like, I can't tell. I love my mom. Like, this is amazing. Your daughter, Claire, is looking at you, Janelle, and thinking the same thing. Like, she's like, my mom is taking me to this.

02:47:12 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. Although she takes full credit because she says, Mom, you've been trying all day, every day for so long, and I only tried one time.

02:47:23 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 2:

She's right. Smartass. Hey, congrats to you. Great job, Mom.

02:47:31 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much.

02:47:32 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 2:

I was patting parents on the back like, great job, Dad. Congratulations. Because honestly, like as a dad and watching Chelsea as a mom and seeing all the stuff that, you know, we do with our kids and do for our kids, I sit there and I go, man, these parents need to have recognition to know that they literally will not be sending their kids to college because they spend all their money. Lori, what's up?

02:47:55 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:47:56 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on?

02:47:58 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much for our tickets that we won. My sister and I had so much fun. We tried to look for you on Saturday, but you weren't there, and we just had an amazing time.

02:48:10 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 2:

We were inside. Well, we also had Kev's gender reveal, too, which was kind of crazy. But real quick, Lori, question for you. Yes. You worked your ass off to get tickets to this concert, right? Yes. And the listening hours on Mojo in the Morning last week were the biggest we've ever had.

02:48:28 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 5:

Truly. Oh, my gosh, yes.

02:48:30 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Was it worth it?

02:48:31 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, absolutely. Yeah Absolutely

02:48:35 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 2:

And now Now we've got 12 listeners this week

02:48:39 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 5:

Do us a favor, go back and listen to the podcast Of Megan announcing to everyone That she is now a Swifty

02:49:04 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, we just heard word that Taylor's going to issue At noon today, a press release about Megan And whether or not she wants Megan or not She's considering Megan announcing that she's a Swifty An insurrection So she's thinking that this might be a little bit of an insurrection

02:49:20 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 4:

That is awesome Love it
