00:03:12 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it's one of those i wish i could have slept in mornings for me right now i don't know what it was i think it was because i stayed up late to watch that nba finals game and uh if you didn't see it already uh denver nuggets won their first but i couldn't fall asleep mondays are really tough to get like home not take a nap you know you got to take a little bit of a nap because of uh you're so busy from the weekend and you're tired and i think i slept too much i think that was the problem i think i took like a An hour and a half or almost two hour nap. So lucky. And then I could not fall asleep, which was actually perfect for watching the game. But then this morning, I'm like dragging ass. Walking outside. Holy cow, it is cold this morning, huh? A little chill in the air. Temperature only 50 degrees.

00:04:22 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 4:

And it's cold rain.

00:04:24 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

I know. That's the other thing.

00:04:25 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 4:

It hasn't started raining for us yet, but it's about to. It was raining for me, and I didn't realize it. I just had cold, wet rain go down my back as I left the house. I was like, oh, this is the day.

00:04:35 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 7:

we gotta have today okay this is for all of those people that uh say that they love this uh

00:04:42 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

colder weather in the summertime in june megan i love that's why you get it i don't particularly love freezing cold rain going down my back at 5 15 in the morning i don't i don't know about you

00:04:54 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

though i do i like anything on my back anything that touches my back is good with me

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 1:

that's what she that's what she said that's what she said that's what she said um all right so it's

00:05:07 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 2:

gonna be uh it's gonna be a day i gotta i i got a coffee and i just haven't had time to drink it yet because of uh we've had meeting pre-show meetings and stuff so i'm gonna drink it here in a second get kind of caffeinated a little bit coffee i see over there i did not get a hot coffee

00:05:21 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 1:

oh okay i was gonna say you oh is that somebody else's no i have a i have a yeti here that i'm

00:05:27 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

going to use today with my coffee, my cold coffee, because my cold coffee doesn't last the whole show.

00:05:33 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I got you.

00:05:33 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

My coffee melts during that hour that we go commercial free.

00:05:39 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:05:39 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

So I'm going to see if the Yeti I brought from home will actually make it better.

00:05:42 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Because you don't drink hot coffee. That's why I was surprised.

00:05:45 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Because we know that Yetis make everything better. They do. I have no idea how this works, but you could put an ice cube in a Yeti and come back five weeks later and it's still an ice cube.

00:05:55 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Trust me, he did this experiment when he got his first Yeti. It's crazy. And we had to hear about it every day. It's the nuttiest thing ever. And check on the ice cube every day, Kev.

00:06:03 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 2:

Seriously. It was a little science fair project that I was trying to do.

00:06:08 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:06:09 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo on the morning show.

00:06:11 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of science fairs, would love to know what the person sitting next to me, I think sitting next to me at church on Sunday 8, to make their farts smell the way that they did. Oh, my God. have you guys ever been somewhere and there was a public farter at large and you just couldn't even breathe because it was so bad? I've been the public farter. Well, yeah, that's a very wrong question to ask you. Here's when it's really bad. So I was at Wes's church, okay, the church that he goes to, and we had my kids with me, Lucy and Smith, and we had his kids with us, Samantha and Kieran. And it was really quiet and trying to pay attention and praying really hard that Smith behaves himself because he's six years old and the last thing this kid wants to do is sit through a church service. But all of a sudden, I could smell like the worst. Someone pooped their pants for a firm. Okay, I could not breathe. I'm trying to do the mouth breathing because I'm like, this is really bad. Okay, and the worst part is when you have a six-year-old with you and really loudly, they're like, It smells so bad In here

00:07:21 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

Does he laugh When he says the word fart too Like is it still that

00:07:25 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 1:

No he just makes this face Stop And I'm like

00:07:27 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

I do Mike Cause like we've all been there Where you know

00:07:31 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Whatever And the lady sitting next to me Actually kept shooting My kids dirty looks As if it was them Which by the way As their mama I know it wasn't them Cause I know their smell We all know Our own smell Or our children's smell It was not their smell You can tell the difference between Can absolutely tell the difference

00:07:48 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Your child's farts and other people's farts.

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

I really can. Were they old people farts?

00:07:52 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Because old people had, the fart that you were smelling, was it, sometimes old people have like a dusty fart to it. Like mothball-y.

00:07:58 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

No, this was not a mothball-y smell. This was a- It was a fresh, fresh fart. Yeah, this was like fresh.

00:08:03 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:05 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

I would say 35 years old. By the way- Hold on a second.

00:08:12 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Shannon. This is the police. I would like to Can you please identify the fart

00:08:18 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 1:

But And not to say I've never farted in public That's not what I was saying by any means But it was just like Everybody's quiet It's church You can't go anywhere So you're stuck there Until it dissipates And my child is publicly commenting On how bad it smells

00:08:33 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 2:

You've heard the saying Like a fart in church There is nothing worse

00:08:36 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 1:

There was really a fart in church There really is A few farts

00:08:39 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

And there's nothing worse than that too Because you are in a captive audience you're stuck there and you can't do anything at all because it's like, oh, you may groan and stuff. Do you think it came from somebody that was sitting in front of you or behind you?

00:08:59 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to guess it was in front of me based on the pungency level. Is that a word?

00:09:06 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

At Wes's church, do they do the sign of peace? Because at that time right there, you could lean in and sniff.

00:09:11 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

They don't. No? He goes to a Lutheran church. Oh, they don't do that in Lutheran church? At least they did it in that specific service.

00:09:17 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, because at Catholic Mass, if somebody is farting, and we've had this before, you can lean in a little bit and go, all right, now I know. It was you. I know it was you. It was you. I remember getting crop dusted by a priest once. I remember going to Mass, and you know how the priest walks up with the altar servers, and they've got the cross and the candles and all the rest of stuff, and they walk up with the big old procession up there? And the priest walked by, and right when he walked by, I was like, oh. It was you. completely crop dusted us uh what's going on jackie it's mojo in the morning how are you good good how are you guys doing we're doing okay uh shannon uh got a little uh sniff on uh of a fart and her son was not

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

happy at church on sunday um well too bad my girlfriend wasn't there because it would have been her she cropped us always i he's a teacher so i can imagine the students are all blaming each

00:10:13 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 1:

other what is it about jackie what is it about your girlfriend that that gets her crop dusting all the time because chelsea says that i am a fart walker she says that i will walk and farts will just randomly come out as I'm moving my legs.

00:10:32 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 3:

It's a slow stream all day, always.

00:10:34 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:10:35 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. She said she didn't like to hold it because it hurts your stomach. I'm like, you did not learn this from a child.

00:10:40 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 1:

So she teaches what grade?

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

Elementary school.

00:10:46 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those poor kids. Oh, yeah. Those poor kids. And they're probably right at ass level in their little desk that they're sitting in. Headshots.

00:10:54 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

And you know they're all blaming each other. They're all like looking at each other They're like, who the hell? And it's easier.

00:11:00 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's not good. Well, thank you for the call, and I'm sure she's really appreciative of you calling out her crop dusting.

00:11:07 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sure she is.

00:11:09 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself, Jackie. Nice to have you on. The funny thing also about going to church, and when you go to church, there's certain people that you'll hang out at in the church that I will go to. you'll hang out with the excessively clearing your throat older guy you know the like the guy that sounds like he is you know kind of probably I don't know spit up something or something during and then the other one is the heavy eyewear perfume to church person it's always somebody's aunt Yeah Sure Always And it's the worst about it is You can't get away from that I'd almost rather smell somebody's farts Than smell somebody's excessive perfume

00:12:01 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 2:

I've been a little quiet But I gotta come clean I'm a farter

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 1:

Are you?

00:12:05 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 2:

And I farted in church Especially my grandmother's church She like occupies the back row So I felt like it was like game on At that point Speaking about that passing of the piece At my grandmother's church We used to like get up And like walk around

00:12:18 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 6:

Yes, that's what my childhood church was.

00:12:21 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

And I used to be like, man, if I can just make it to the passing of the peace, I can let them loose. That's where you get to go. My mom, like one of my nicknames is Mr. Pootie.

00:12:31 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 6:

He's like fun all the time.

00:12:34 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

We had, I was an altar server, Kev. I don't know if you know that, but believe it or not, I was an, I'm kind of like a little bit religious going to 12 years of Catholic school. And I remember being an altar server at a mass That Father Rich Homa got sick And we had to stall mass While he went into the bathroom To go do his duties I think I've told this story a couple times on the air And he went in and did not turn off his mic

00:12:59 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 5:

Yes you have Yes you have Oh no

00:13:03 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

And Mrs. Barrett, Tom Barrett's mom Who was the head of the altar service Came over to me and goes Tommy, go tell Father Rich his mic is on and i had to go in there and i guess in the church you could hear

00:13:17 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 6:

your mic's on father what's up terry how you doing i'm good how are you we're good what's

00:13:29 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 4:

happening oh i got a i got one that tops that how about stuck on a cross-country flight About three days after Easter With a guy eating boiled eggs That were obviously three days old Oh my god Oh you poor thing Terry That was the absolute worst I mean even the flight attendants Wouldn't even come back Oh my god

00:13:56 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

You can get on the no fly list For bringing boiled eggs on a plane Emerald what's going on

00:14:03 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 3:

Hi I just wanted to call in And so my mom, you know, she'll get up and walk and fart, and she calls it. She says that she's gas-powered.

00:14:12 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that's good. Oh, man. Is that something that's generational? Does it get passed down to you?

00:14:21 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 3:

I hope not.

00:14:22 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. My dad was a farter, so I think it does. My dad was one of those guys, too, that he would just, like, randomly just, like, let one out. And he always did the little fart, and then he would go, ooh. My dad would always tell me, well, loose floorboards. We got loose floorboards. And the best is when you can blame it on little children. Like, when you have little children, it's okay. Because, honestly, they are already right at a point where they don't even know what the hell is going on. Just blame it on them, you know? And then the kids, everybody's looking at them in kind of a weird way. So, I like, though, that Smith is your son, though, that will call out the person for that.

00:14:57 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 6:

Yep.

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Normally you say Shannon. I know, Shannon. I was going to. I didn't know if you had more to say. I didn't want to interrupt you.

00:18:04 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. I kind of honestly brain farted for a second. I thought to myself, what are we doing right now? I'm Shannon. What is going on?

00:18:10 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 6:

And today is Tuesday, June 13th.

00:18:12 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:18:13 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 6:

Welcome. Nikola Jokic led Denver to its first NBA title in team history last night as the Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat 94-89 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

00:18:27 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 7:

One goal. Rebound caught. They're not going to foul. They're eating and let it play out. It's over. At last, the warm weight is over. After 47 years, the Denver Nuggets can finally call themselves NBA champions.

00:18:47 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 6:

Jokic also nabbed NBA Finals MVP honors. Miami's Jimmy Butler finished with 21 points. And I know you said you were up late watching that game.

00:18:56 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 5:

Worth it? Yes, it was. Well, it was worth it just because it was an entertaining game and it came down to the end. But I thought that – how is his name? Is it Nicola? What is it? Nicola. Nicola. Okay. The Joker. We'll call him the Joker, which is the thing. But he said something during the press conference. I sent it to you guys earlier this morning. I thought it was so funny. All this guy wants to do during his post-game interview, he goes, now I can go home. And he kept saying that. Now I can go home. Like, all he wants to do is go home to his homeland. And then he said this during the press conference yesterday, which I thought was pretty hysterical.

00:19:32 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 4:

You said after the Lakers win, you said you were surprised that you didn't feel more. So I'm curious what you are feeling right now, and if you're looking forward to a parade coming up in Denver

00:19:42 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 2:

When is the parade? When is the parade?

00:19:47 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 4:

Thursday No I need to go home

00:19:52 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 5:

All this guy wants to do is go home

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 4:

I actually kind of like it. No, it's the most unmemorable series in the entire world. But after this year, I will never remember that this series happened.

00:20:08 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 5:

But you know what, though, Mike? You think about, though, how exhausted did you feel after Taylor Swift when you were taking Cecily there?

00:20:15 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 4:

All you wanted to do was go home, right? I feel him. I understand what he's feeling in that time, but you would never see a LeBron go, I just want to go home. You know what I mean? You'd never see a Jordan go, I just want to go home.

00:20:25 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 2:

That's so relatable.

00:20:27 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 4:

My guys from Serbia. Life is completely different for him there. Yeah, I bet. He just wants to get on his horses.

00:20:34 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

Former President Donald Trump going to appear in a federal courthouse in Miami today at 3 p.m. The Justice Department again accusing Trump of improperly handling classified national security documents that were taken to Mar-a-Lago when he left the White House. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and the Miami police chief held a press conference last night as officials anticipate. Maybe some potential violence today, as well as major traffic delays near the courthouse, said law enforcement has prepared resources for a crowd from 5,000 to 50,000 people. They don't really know what to expect. But Mayor Suarez said the city wants to make sure that everybody has the right to peacefully express themselves and exercise their constitutional rights in a lawful and orderly manner. Daphne Barak, the journalist claiming Kevin Federline was telling people that Britney Spears has a little issue with crystal meth, is not backing down. And she's insisting Kevin made the statement despite him denying he ever said it yesterday. Daphne and her team spent months working on a documentary with K-Fedt's family and Britney's two older sons. And a rep for the Daily Mail said, Daphne has assured us that the quotes attributed to Kevin Federline and the family are accurate and fairly reflect the interviews conducted in which Kevin expressed his fears that Brittany might be using crystal meth. He did so clearly and repeatedly. And the team apparently also reached out to Brittany's reps for comments on the meth allegations, but did not get a response. Do you think he said this at like a dinner party and angry at her? I thought it got published and he was like, oh, crap. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Jennifer Lawrence, I mean, she may be one of, you know, the biggest actresses in the world right now, but she was bullied back in middle school.

00:22:22 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 3:

This one girl named Meredith handed me a stack of invitations to her birthday party, asked me to hand them out, but I was not invited. She was so mean. Oh, my God. I spit on them and threw them in the trash. Was that like middle school? Middle school.

00:22:33 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 2:

Still remembers that all these years later and said she has some own regrets of her behavior.

00:22:38 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 3:

I was an accidental bully because I pantsed this kid named Tyler because we were like pantsing people at a football game and I accidentally grabbed his underwear and he got really embarrassed and I feel really bad, I'm sorry. To this day. I like sometimes Google him. You all right? You know what I hated?

00:22:56 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 5:

I used to hate Valentine's Day because that was when everybody would stand up and pass out their Valentines. And you'd leave and you'd come back to your desk Hoping that you'd have a bunch of Valentines on your desk And you'd come back and there'd be like Maybe five or so out of the 30 kids in your class

00:23:11 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 2:

You didn't have to give one to everybody in the class We had to give one to everybody in the class

00:23:16 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, this was the days These were the old days These were the days where literally they wanted you to be hurt You know, they wanted And look at me now Those sweetie grams You have somebody come to the class and see I blame my weight issue on this because all I did was steal other kids' candy then because I didn't get any Valentines.

00:23:38 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Nicki Minaj and I Spice confirming a release date for their collab, Barbie World, with the original Barbie hitmaker, hitmakers, Aqua. It is dropping June 23rd. I couldn't really play you the rap part of it because...

00:23:54 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 5:

Is it dirty?

00:23:55 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 2:

It's so dirty. I didn't even have time to believe it. But the song is featured on the Barbie movie soundtrack, of course, which hits theaters nationwide on July 21st. I like that Dua Lipa song from the movie. Yeah, we played that for you. Yeah, we played that. I do too. I do too. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on thedirtyofmorning.com.

00:24:16 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 1:

00:24:53 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:24:54 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

I love it. We're going to have the dudes take on each other today.

00:25:00 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 1:

Um, before we went on the air, we flipped a coin and chose that Jeff will go first. Jonathan, you will go second. Since we do not have a champion, because both of you guys are challengers taking on each other, two new contestants. If we do have a tie, we will have a question at the end, which will be a know the show type question. All right. Got it. Goodbye to Jonathan. Jonathan, goodbye. You'll hear nothing, and then get a chance to talk to our producer Lydia there. Jeff, how you doing, bud?

00:25:35 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 2:

Good, good, good. I'm trying to keep it together. We lost a family member over the weekend.

00:25:39 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man, I'm sorry. Yeah. Well, our prayers to you, and do you have a funeral coming up here soon, or what are you doing?

00:25:48 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, she did a cremation, and we're going to just do a memorial in the next week or so.

00:25:53 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, well, we're thinking of you, buddy. Thank you. Here we go. Question number one. Ryan Reynolds apologized to the Wrexham fans after there was some online confusion over a potential name change for the team. What sport is Wrexham? Soccer. Question number two. Jennifer Aniston says that she hates when people tell her that she looks great for her age. Where did her sitcom Friends take place? New York. Question number three, Wheel of Fortunes' Pat Sajak is retiring from the show after 41 seasons. Who is his famous longtime co-host, Letter Turner? Dana White. Question number four, Tim Allen turns 70 years old today. What character did he play in the Toy Story movies?

00:26:49 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 2:

Buzz Lightyear.

00:26:50 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 1:

And question number five, NFL star Aaron Rodgers was randomly spotted at an after-hour party for Broadway's Biggest Night, which took place Sunday evening in New York City. What are those awards recognizing achievement in theater called? The Tonys. Let's bring the champ back. Or he's not a champ. I'm sorry. He's a challenger. Let's bring your challenger back. Jeff, you are great. You got a perfect score, five out of five. Wow. Yeah, Jeff. Yay. Jonathan, you've got to be perfect, Jonathan, to at least go to a tiebreaker, okay? Here we go. Question number one. Ryan Reynolds apologized to Wrexham fans after there was some online confusion over a potential name change for the team. What sport is Wrexham?

00:27:38 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 2:

Soccer.

00:27:39 - 00:27:39 | Unknown:

Yes.

00:27:40 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 1:

One to one. Question two. Jennifer Aniston says that she hates when people tell her that she looks good for her age. Where did her sitcom Friends take place?

00:27:52 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 2:

New York.

00:27:53 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Two to two. Question three. Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak is retiring from the show after 41 seasons. Who is his longtime co-host, Letter Turner?

00:28:06 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Dame White. Yes. Three to three.

00:28:09 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 1:

Very quiet man here. Yeah. Question number four. Detroit's very own Tim Allen turned 70 years old today. What character did he play in the Toy Story movies? No.

00:28:23 - 00:28:24 | Unknown:

No.

00:28:24 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, man. Oh, no. No, Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear, yeah. Jeff is our champion. Wow. Oh, no. All right, wow. He even caught me off guard with my hitting the dinger ding ding. Jeff, congratulations. Thank you, thank you. And the last question, the last question to the Tony Awards was the answer to that one, which, of course, you know, because Jeff got it right. Congrats to you, buddy.

00:28:54 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thank you. Thank you.

00:28:56 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you. Hang on the phone for just one second so we can give a parting gift for you, Jonathan. We'll set you up with a $50 Red Robin gift card. Oh, somebody tell Karen we got dinner gift cards back. I got a good feeling about Jeff. You do? Yeah. I feel like he's going to be in it for a while. There's going to be some good things coming his way. I like that. He's got a little guardian angel watching over him. But hold on one second. We'll get your information to Jeff so that we can make sure we have you at the same time tomorrow, okay?

00:29:28 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 2:

All right, you guys have a good day. All right, take care of yourself. It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55.

00:29:37 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Mornings show. Good to have you guys here with us. It's Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Mike, Kev, KP, Lydia, and Misfit Steve, who is our audio guy, Zach. Good to have you guys here with us. Love that you guys are listening to the show on Channel 955 in Detroit.

00:30:00 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 4:

92.5 KISS FM in Toledo and 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids, Muskegon. So Megan knows where her hater works. Maybe we should go visit your hater. What do you think? Should we do that?

00:30:13 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Maybe. I think my therapist might say so once I tell you where she works. Oh, wow. Okay. So I don't know what happened to me. I don't know who I was, but I thought I was a CIA agent yesterday. And I spent a lot of time online, and I probably shouldn't have. And I think I always shock myself when I do a deep dive. And this is just a PSA for all of our listeners right now. Maybe you should check your Facebook page and see what information you keep public. Because it is a little surprising to me how easy you make it for me to find out where you live, who you're connected to, maybe what you do for a living. And that's all going to play into what happened yesterday. So I was scrolling through some comment sections of some posts that included me because I was just, I was on one yesterday. That's my only excuse. I was just in my feelings. And I was going through some of the comments and I got a pretty hurtful comment from one of our listeners. and i normally try to not write something snarky because our boss watches the page so write something a polite collect back is what i try to do like i'm not going to be really mean but i also need to call you out for your misbehavior and i for some reason just clicked on this person's name and when i did it obviously took me to their page could not believe how much information this person had on their facebook page and when i tell you it down to the specific office of their job was listed and what exactly was the hater doing what was they saying here's where i went from my feelings are hurt to i i literally laughed out loud and i know i say that a lot but like literally was chuckling could not believe the audacity the absurdity the hypocrisy of the fact that she worked at a mental health care office oh no stop it she works at a therapy office in emergency situations and she's online bullying people wow is this the person that made

00:32:25 - 00:32:33 | Speaker 4:

a comment about uh your looks yes okay yeah that person works in therapy that person gives therapy

00:32:33 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 2:

to people when i tell you i could tell you the specific office that this person works at i could Because they listed it

00:32:40 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 4:

How can you be a therapist How can you be a therapist And give therapy to people When you're out there creating something That could cause therapy

00:32:48 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 2:

The hypocrisy of it all Blew my mind Absolutely blew my mind

00:32:54 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 3:

It sounds like job security really If you think about it She's causing mental drama And then bringing it back to her office

00:33:03 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh

00:33:03 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 2:

I just thought that was absolutely hysterical

00:33:06 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you something that I saw that yesterday and I made a comment to her back and it's wild because as soon as I made the comment, Chelsea right away goes, that's one of the best lines from one of our favorite movies. And I go, wait, I thought that was my own line. What movie was it from? Well, I did the whole, I did the whole, to me, Megan is perfect.

00:33:31 - 00:33:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. That's right.

00:33:33 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 4:

To me, Megan is perfect. What is it? It's the.

00:33:35 - 00:34:33 | Speaker 1:

Love Actually. I think it was Love Actually. It's from Love Actually, the poster boards. Yes, that's right. This reminds me, Megan. So I used to, the morning show that I worked on before, Mojo, you know exactly what story I'm about to tell. The morning show that I worked on before I came to this show is called The Morning Mess. And we were in Atlanta, Georgia. And we were not very well received there. Like, people hated us. And so they would just, like, constantly bully us and write awful, awful things about us on Facebook. Instagram actually wasn't even really around. And so the host of my show would do the same thing. He would deep dive a person, figure out where they worked, and then he would either call or write an email to the head of the company, like that person's boss, and be like, just want to let you know what your employee is doing during work hours. They're trolling a radio morning show online.

00:34:33 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 3:

I would love, I would love, love, love, love, love. And I'll be the guy to do it, to show up to their office. Actually, Megan should show up with you. Yes. You guys should be a husband and wife that's looking for couples therapy. And then we'll talk specifically about her in the therapy session and see how far we could go until she realizes it.

00:34:53 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Has anybody ever experienced a therapist making them need therapy? Because I've never heard of something.

00:35:00 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 8:

like this i've never heard of the fact that a person that works in psychology or therapy is causing for hate and anger out there by making a comment about a person's looks but you know what's

00:35:10 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 1:

so funny is my therapist has a therapist well which i think is interesting well can i tell you

00:35:16 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 4:

the annoying part about all this is my therapist gave me homework to do and i totally forgot part of it i just missed a couple of days and then as soon as i deep dive this woman's profile the annoying part was she reminded me that i had homework to do and i was like not only are you actually out here hurting my feelings but now i have extra work to do thank you bitch i actually

00:35:35 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 8:

had so to go to go about deep diving this thing i remember five or six years ago i we had a show uh person or a person that hated the show like a you know a mojo uh in the morning hater uh haters club member which by the way we should make t-shirts that would be the greatest and have i'm a mojo in the morning show hater um but the person hated us and they were the youth pastor at one of the big non-denominational christian churches here and the the funniest part of the of the whole thing about them hating us was they you clicked on it and you could just see their pictures and that was what gave it away and then you if you looked up their name you could see everything because their facebook was blocked and you see the person on stage baptizing children at

00:36:27 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 7:

their church and i'm like oh my god i'm all for the call out and i think lately you've been seeing a lot more of people just getting called out like literally finding where they work finding their instagram or whatever social media profiles and blasting it on the internet so people can make a decision if they want to follow up. I literally saw some of that stuff yesterday. I think it's

00:36:49 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 5:

right. I'll do it. I'll be the guy I would love to. Give me the t-shirts and I'll deliver the t-shirts to them and we'll go. I guarantee they'll literally just go. Because everybody's a badass on the internet. Everybody. Everybody's tough on the internet. But nobody will do any of that in person. Or on the phone.

00:37:05 - 00:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Because Mojo sometimes will call people that send us nasty texts. And it's so funny because as soon as he goes, hello,

00:37:11 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 7:

it's Mojo. Hey, it's Mojo. They're like, hi. or if you reply to the comment they don't even reply back and listen we're not saying that you

00:37:20 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 8:

can't have an opinion of hey i don't i like this or i don't like this or i wish i was doing this but to make somebody's uh it was an attack on just the way that i look yeah personal looks it's you know what these people are are morons what's up chris how you doing

00:37:34 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 2:

hi guys i love i listen to you guys every day as i'm driving to work whoa we love you too I am a mental health therapist. I have two wonderful jobs. I work in Genesee County. Oh, I love it. And I just want to tell you, Megan, I'm so sorry this happened to you. This is horrible. And as a therapist, I want to tell this person, you're burned out, babe.

00:38:06 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, you know what? That might be it.

00:38:07 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 2:

You don't care or get the hell out.

00:38:09 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 8:

Honestly, you're probably right. The person probably has been doing it a little long without having a little breather, and maybe we've got to give them grace on that, and they need to go seek their own help.

00:38:20 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no grace. Yeah. No, no, no, no, because we are taught in grad school how to look for our triggers for burnout. And if she is making comments like this to Megan, I don't know if she's a therapist. I don't know if she just works in the office, you know, like maybe as a head clerk or something.

00:38:43 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 8:

But people come to me because they need it. Could you imagine if she's the lady taking your phone call when you're calling up to make an appointment?

00:38:52 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I mean, I have to tell you, I have not worked in a field like that, but I would have gone off on her butt. In today's society with so much crap going on, therapists are needed. and Megan I just hope you realize that not all of us are like her

00:39:12 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 4:

oh I do thank you and I love you that was so nice of you to call in

00:39:16 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 8:

no problem thanks Chris what's going on Frankie how you doing

00:39:21 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 3:

good what's up so my husband had an affair with his therapist he was his therapist at like an inpatient treatment facility where he was supposed to be getting help for other things And so I deep dived once he, you know, told me everything. She also had a husband, was married. I met with him, was absolutely amazing person. I don't understand if I seen her husband and then my husband. I would totally run the other way if I seen my husband in her shoes. She's seen all of his bad deeds. Wow. How did you find out about that?

00:39:55 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 1:

Wait.

00:39:57 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

So he told me he ended up, you know.

00:40:00 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 6:

I'm inclined about it. And when I met with her husband, he told me, like, she was seeing another one of her patients now. And in Michigan, that's totally not okay. Like, you can have a person to go out and I'm not allowed to do things like that. I'm a nurse. It's completely un... Yeah, I don't think... Wow.

00:40:15 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 1:

We talked right over you when you said this. What kind of a therapist is she now?

00:40:20 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 6:

She's a divorced therapist now.

00:40:22 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:40:22 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought you said she's a divorced therapist. Like, she is divorced, but okay.

00:40:27 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 6:

She is now.

00:40:27 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

She's divorced now, too.

00:40:29 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 6:

And gives advice to people But question

00:40:32 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 2:

When you go to therapy I bring up all of the worst parts about me How are you selling yourself As a potential match for your therapist That makes zero sense to me

00:40:45 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 6:

It's the worst version of me My husband was in a treatment facility When she had an affair with him She's seen everything he was there for The things he was doing And I'm like oh my god I would have totally been done and I would have definitely not been in a closet making out with him. Is that what they were doing? Yeah. Oh, my God.

00:41:07 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

Mike, are you okay?

00:41:08 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but the silver lining is she's probably a really good divorce therapist now, right? She's probably really, really good.

00:41:17 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

She knows the things to do and not to do.

00:41:20 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 5:

The signs, what to watch.

00:41:21 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of like Sopranos-ish. Remember Tony Soprano had the hot therapist?

00:41:25 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, don't spoil it.

00:41:26 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Spoiler alert Mojo the Morning Show Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is the telephone number There's a couple random stories here we're talking about the uh farter earlier this morning did you see this story uh be careful how much time you spend in the restroom at work a man in china was fired from his job by his employer for too much toilet time during his work hours the man reportedly took bathroom breaks that were between 47 minutes and over an hour and a half.

00:42:24 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, it happens. Yeah, I was going to say that. It happens. It's kind of on the low end.

00:42:28 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 1:

47-minute bathroom break.

00:42:31 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Some of us have IBS. It happens.

00:42:33 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I get it. I bet. You have IBS. But come on, this guy's in there for over an hour and a half. There's something he's doing in there. IBS? I just need an iPhone. And I'll be there. But he ended up getting fired because he had no proof of medical issues causing him to do that. He was just doing it to hide in the bathroom. By the way, you have to call out, do you have anybody in your office that is the office bathroomer? The person that goes to the bathroom all the time and just sits in the bathroom all day?

00:43:00 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 5:

When you say all the time, is that I always walk

00:43:04 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

into the bathroom and see the same people every time. We have the same bladder problems, you know, the same bladder hours and it's always Casey from the rock station next door. I walk into the bathroom

00:43:14 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 5:

and it's Casey. You guys have the nicest bathrooms in the world. Really?

00:43:17 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 1:

That might be the only thing that we have nice in this place.

00:43:20 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

We've not been in the ladies' room that only has a sink that maybe works sometimes, but it's not about that. It's about the full doors.

00:43:27 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:43:28 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Well, you also get a shower when you flush in the girls' room.

00:43:33 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, same with the guys. And now we have an automatic flusher in our one toilet there, too.

00:43:37 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you fancy.

00:43:38 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 1:

You got to stand and run.

00:43:41 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 2:

You might as well not have doors on the bathrooms here in Toledo because the gaps are so large. You can see everybody washing their hands.

00:43:48 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 1:

It's the building has settled, causing the doors to not be on their hinges. Listen to this one, too. Helicopter parents are becoming so present that they have entered the workplace where helicopter parents are now filling out applications on behalf of their now adult children, asking to sit in on job interviews and even dropping into the office to mediate disputes. the boom in remote working didn't help more than half of 18 to 24 year olds lived with at least one parent between uh 2022 and now and uh they say that uh many of these kids were raised by these parents that were very helicoptery they they were a very big part of their lives well now they're causing for issues in their workplaces you want to know what's so funny so

00:44:41 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

one of my very close girlfriends is the manager of a business that, um, most of the majority of their employees are like college kids. Okay. High school, college kids. And she was telling me that over the past couple of weeks, she's had so many parents call her.

00:45:00 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 1:

to call off their kids to say that they had to stay home and study for finals. She's like, I was having moms and dads call me telling me why their 20-year-old couldn't come into work because they had to study for finals.

00:45:14 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 2:

I wonder what a Tony Travato would do if somebody's mommy called in and said, you really upset my child today. Write a promo about it. Yeah, you would. You probably would. Deep Voice guy would be doing it.

00:45:27 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 3:

On Mojo in the morning. By the way, there was somebody that used to work here at the radio station whose father called the general manager and tried to negotiate their contract for them. Did it work? Yeah. And it wasn't that he was a lawyer or anything like that. He just called up when they offered them the first contract and said, hi, this is so-and-so, so-and-so's dad. And the general manager knew him kind of from being around and stuff and said, yeah. And he goes, we should talk about this contract that you offered. and it was like trying to do, I don't know if it worked or not, but I do know that it became then kind of a little bit of a joke. One in five relationships is the result of one partner poaching the mates from another. Wait, what? The researchers polled 16,000 people in 53 countries and they found that 20% of long-term relationships begin when one or both partners is involved with somebody else. So basically, mate poaching or going and starting a relationship with somebody else. Well, in some cases, yes. Some people in some countries call it that. Other people call it something. I don't know. They call it mate poaching. But isn't that wild?

00:46:38 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm also wondering how many times are you just like dating a guy? You break up and then your friend starts dating him. So not necessarily cheating, but you met because they were dating a friend?

00:46:47 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, I'm thinking that happens a lot, too. and then that's not cheating. Yeah, that wouldn't be a cheating situation. You just get their sloppy seconds.

00:46:57 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, don't do that.

00:46:59 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Gail? What's going on?

00:47:02 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Happy belated birthday, Mojo.

00:47:05 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you. That was very nice of you. Thank you.

00:47:08 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah, the vice president's son, who is a manager at my company, will spend like an hour and a half every freaking morning in the bathroom.

00:47:17 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:47:18 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I swear to God. He's like, okay, so he'll go, we have, like, a lot of different buildings on our property, and he'll go to the maintenance, and there's only one bathroom there, and he'll spend, like, so long in there, and, like, everybody's trying to get their trucks ready, including me, and I have to pee, and I can't because Butch is in the bathroom. Butch is in the bathroom.

00:47:38 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't it be great if his name is Butch?

00:47:41 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 5:

I got a poo.

00:47:42 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 3:

I love that.

00:47:43 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 5:

You should make a sign for the door that says Butch's bathroom.

00:47:48 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 3:

I really should. But you've got to be careful, though, because he's the boss's kid, right?

00:47:53 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 4:

He's a spoiled brat. He gets away with everything. And we all joke around like that. We're all a bunch of kids. So I think a sign would be cool.

00:48:00 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 3:

What does dad think of that?

00:48:02 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 4:

Dad probably does it, too, in the other bathroom. I just don't see him.

00:48:06 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 3:

That's funny. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:48:10 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day, guys.

00:48:12 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself. War of the Roses coming up here in just a little bit. I have a friend of mine, and you guys will have to tell me if you think I'm in the wrong on this one, but I have a friend of mine who called me to tell me that I was a one-sided friend. My buddy Paul says that I am a horrible friend because he said he always calls me and that I rarely call him. And as a matter of fact, he said that there are a lot of streets named after me one way. And he says that in the last month, he has called me 10 times to the fact that I have called him 0.0 times.

00:48:58 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Why is he keeping score?

00:48:59 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. He says he gets very upset by that whole thing. So last night, he told me this over the weekend. So last night, I actually called him before I went to bed because I wanted to check in on him. No, you didn't. I did.

00:49:11 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

You wanted to have one plate in your column.

00:49:13 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to get one because I felt really bad about it. But I just wanted to make sure that, you know, he knew that I was still there. And then also I didn't have to talk much because he knew I was going to bed. I wonder if he'll answer his phone now. I don't know. You know what's funny is I don't think he ever wakes up this early in the morning. He's one of those guys that will send you text messages at like 3 in the morning of TikToks that he saw. So it might be on.

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever heard somebody say to you, though—

00:49:40 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 3:

By the way, does this count as a call to him? Oh, he's not going to answer.

00:49:45 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever heard somebody say to you, if you're kind of iffy about a friendship, see what would happen, especially if you feel like you're always the one reaching out, which in your case is Paul, not you. But what would happen if you stopped reaching out? Would the friendship survive?

00:49:59 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 3:

I know.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. That's actually kind of scary to think that.

00:50:03 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 3:

Right, because I know there are people in my life that if I stopped pursuing, if I stopped reaching out to them and constantly calling or checking in or whatever, I probably would never talk to them again.

00:50:16 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 2:

So then why are you pursuing them?

00:50:18 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, I've learned my lesson with this and kind of realized that, but it's really interesting if you take a step.

00:50:25 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I have any of those kind of friends like that. What's that, Megan?

00:50:30 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, isn't that also a really great way to gauge who is a super important part of your life? Like, for me, our old producer, Ellen, and I, we're still very, very close, and I know that if I don't reach out in a certain amount of time, she always, like, texts me and says, hey, checking in, haven't heard me. And I just love those people that are like, hey. It's been a minute.

00:50:49 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to check in on you. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

00:50:52 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

I will have to go through my list of people because I think that there are those that will text me or call me that I would consider to be friendly acquaintances. And I feel bad to say this, but we probably don't call them very much because we're just caught up in like the busy times of our lives, like work times and stuff. But I do see them and have great interactions with them. Like Paul, for instance, Paul is one of those guys that I actually really enjoy being around, But I don't just randomly, you know, call them up out of the blue and just say, you know, hey, what are you doing? But I do have those kind of friends that you do that with, like where you just randomly call. Chelsea says that the only time that I ever call anybody is when I'm in a car. So if I'm at home sitting on the couch or whatever, or if I'm here at work, I won't just call you. But if I'm in a car, I cannot sit quiet in the car. What's going on, Katie?

00:51:48 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. Happy belated birthday, Mojo.

00:51:51 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you. I appreciate you.

00:51:53 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 5:

So I had a friend in college. I actually met my boyfriend of eight years through her. He was her boyfriend's best friend, and I was her best friend. And so the four of us used to hang out for like two, three years. And then there was a period of time where I was traveling, so I had her watching my cat for me. And then I came back to the States and told her, hey, I got like a souvenir for me. Do you want to hang out sometime? And she's like, well, I'm busy right now, maybe later. And I'm like, okay. And that went on back and forth for maybe like a week or two. And then finally I kind of did what Shannon did. And I was like, well, let's see when she reaches out to me. She straight up never did.

00:52:35 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:52:36 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 5:

But like a month or two later, cards unfolded. And my mom unfortunately passed away. And she never, ever reached out to me. Oh, that's awful. It just fizzles out.

00:52:46 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 3:

Because you're putting in all the work, right?

00:52:48 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. So it's not worth it, especially when I was going through, like, a whole world imploding. Like, I needed good friends around me, and it wasn't worth putting in that energy.

00:52:56 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 2:

See, that's interesting that you say that because, you know, like, usually you'll have a traumatic thing happen in your family or, like, mine was my surgery. And then that you see who your friends really are because the people that will check on you or check on your family or come to a funeral. You always know how good a person is based on whether or not they'll come to the wake or the funeral, you know?

00:53:16 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, at her funeral, I had a—and at that point, I'd been out of high school for, like, you know, probably five years. And I actually had a friend from high school that I hadn't spoke to in, like, six years show up to the funeral.

00:53:29 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's nice.

00:53:31 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so it's like you have— Show us how they care. You support your support system.

00:53:36 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Thank you for the call. What's up, Amanda?

00:53:39 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I'm the opposite of you, Mojo, and it's something I kind of struggle with a lot where I feel in a lot of my friendships I'm putting in more than what I'm receiving. But I've also learned that with some people, it's just about how they show affection. And obviously, you know, like the last caller who said she, you know, had a family member pass away and people weren't there for her. Like, that's different, but, like, some people don't like to be around people all the time where I'm more the type to call and invite people out. It's all about different preferences and how they learn to show love in, like, their love languages.

00:54:18 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, here's what I was thinking about doing. Amanda, I want everybody, I'm going to give Paul's number out to you guys right now, and I want you guys all to call Paul. No, I'm just kidding. I don't want to do that. But hold on. Let's call him and just leave him a voicemail message and just say, Paul, we just wanted to say hi to you.

00:54:35 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 3:

You're just adding another one to the call list. Yes.

00:54:38 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 2:

This will be the second call of the day. This is the second call of the day, Tim.

00:54:41 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 3:

So you have to say, I'm catching up.

00:54:42 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Just wanted to truly make sure you're okay. Actually, I was thinking about doing that yesterday, last night when I called him. After we hung up the phone, call him again and say, okay, now it's 10 to 2. That's the voicemail. All right. We're going to leave him a voicemail message. Hold on a second here.

00:54:58 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 3:

He probably thinks there's an emergency. at this point. You think? I don't know two calls in a row. I don't know. After not hearing from

00:55:04 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 1:

you. Paul Clems voicemail please leave a message and I'll call you back. All right thank you. Here we go. At the tone please record your message. When you've finished recording you may hang up

00:55:14 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 5:

or press one for more options. Paul I just want you to know I called you twice this morning okay and then last night once. So now I've called you three times in the last 24 hours and I'm actually bringing some people on to the call just to say hello. Say hi to Paul.

00:55:30 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Paul. Good morning. Hey, Paul.

00:55:33 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 5:

So we just wanted to say hi. So I do still care about you as a friend. Love you. Take care, Paul. Bye, Paul. Bye. All right. We'll be back with more. Oh, no, we're not taking a break. No. Let's fill up his entire voicemail. Shannon, what's going on in the dirty on the turdy?

00:55:55 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 3:

I will. Well, Pat Sajak, the longtime Wheel of Fortune host, is going to step away from the iconic game show after the end of this upcoming 41st season. You guys, he's been hosting since Ronald Reagan was president. Really?

00:56:11 - 00:56:12 | Unknown:

I love that.

00:56:12 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 3:

He made the announcement yesterday afternoon, and he just said, the time has come. I've decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It has been a wonderful ride, and I'll have more to say in the coming months.

00:56:24 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 6:

I'm not a young man, and I've still been doing it for over half my life. I now appreciate more than ever what this show means. People identify this show with raising families. Is that him? Watching it with their grandmother. People come up to me almost every day and say, you know, I just lost my grandmother. And my fondest memory was sitting with her and watching your show. Or my kids learned the alphabet from your show.

00:56:45 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 5:

Do you know that I went to Columbia College in Chicago? Mm-hmm. And they have an alumni list. I never graduated from there. I was like dropped out like a year shy and I was on an alumni list with Pat Sajak that we went to the same school and it said all the people that went there and there was like some you know radio people television people showbiz people Jimmy Kimmel's son you know went there and stuff like that and um it said Pat Sajak and then my name was right there with Pat Sajak I was like so excited

00:57:14 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

greatness well in related dirty a spinoff of Wheel of Fortune is in development gearing the challenges toward kids and younger audiences several of the challenges will involve physical and like comedic things that will help contestants earn letters i don't know when a premiere date is set for that but it is happening i'm sorry i say you don't update it and do it like wordle yeah well there's a wordle kind of game that uh rupaul hosts oh really okay is it good is it as good as a wheel of fortune i kind of like it it's on um hulu i don't know what it's called off the top of my head, but I think it's pretty good. Taylor Swift has reportedly canceled her membership at New York City's Casa Cipriani after those photos and videos of her on a date with her now ex-boyfriend, Maddie Healy, leaked. We talked about this. Casa Cipriani is a club, okay? And you cannot take photos when you're inside. There is a very strict no pictures policy. So they bounced the members that took and released the photos. Three members, at least three members got kicked out for this. But, I mean, Taylor came in knowing the policy, thinking she was going to be safe and then had to leave because of the intrusive photo taking. So now they're cracking down on this. The private club sent out a memo telling its members essentially like, look, it's important to note that any member who violates this policy will face immediate cancellation of their membership. So, here you go. Speaking of Taylor, did you guys hear this story? I know this was viral yesterday. a 17-year-old girl, Swifty, named Grace Farrell, was getting ready for bed at home near Chicago when suddenly her home burst into flames. Really super scary. Well, firefighters, thankfully, were able to get everybody out of the burning home. But it wasn't until Grace was outside that she realized her dress that she had planned to wear for the next evening's Taylor Swift show was still inside. And this firefighter named Brian Adcock went back in, saving the dress and saving the day.

00:59:15 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 2:

I realized that I was going to the Taylor Swift concert that day, and my dress was in there.

00:59:20 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 4:

I said, okay, show me a picture. I said, I'll see if I can go up there and see if I can salvage your dress for you.

00:59:27 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 2:

I was so excited.

00:59:28 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 4:

We saved the Taylor Swift dress, and she got to go to the concert.

00:59:31 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 3:

That's kind of sweet. Wow.

00:59:32 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 4:

That's kind of sweet.

00:59:33 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And lastly, you guys have all seen Up, right? The animated movie. Yeah, I love that movie. saddest beginning to a movie ever right so carl frederickson who is the little old man in the movie up voiced by ed asner is returning to the big screen um there's a new animated short called carl's date that is gonna be

01:00:00 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 2:

debuting if you go see the new movie Elemental. Is it called Elemental? Elemental. So if you see Elemental you're going to be seeing this. Now Ed Asner who voiced Carl passed away in 2021 but had already recorded his voice parts for this little movie. So here's a little preview of it.

01:00:18 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 5:

Miss Meyer likes me and wants to go out on a date. Huh? I don't know how to date. They're fun, right? Fun is digging in the dirt and destroying your flowers. His dog, Doug. Flowers. There's so much to do. You really don't teach old dogs new tricks.

01:00:34 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 2:

That's really sweet. So you'll see them both if you go see Elemental. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty Fates on MojoInTheMorning.com.

She heard us solicit saying, hey, do you think you're being cheated on? And so Carly ended up texting that. We called her back, and the situation is crazy. It's a Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses.

01:01:11 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 6:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:18 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 1:

Carly doesn't think that her boyfriend's cheating on her, or at least didn't, until you were told that he was cheating on you. Yeah. And who was it? tell everybody who it was that told you that he's cheating on you.

01:01:32 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 4:

It's a stripper at the place that we go to all the time.

01:01:36 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you guys frequent a, like a strip club? Yeah. And what exactly did she tell you?

01:01:47 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 4:

She told me that he's calling her all the time.

01:01:53 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 1:

That he has her phone number? Your boyfriend has her phone number?

01:01:55 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 4:

uh i guess so i guess that's what she means and what does she say that he's telling uh her talking to her about they seem to have plans and she was saying that she's really into her and that you know he's just he's not that interested and he doesn't really have another thing going in other words he's not really interested in me and like i I don't know. I don't know what's really going on.

01:02:28 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

Have they ever met up, or do you know if they've ever met up outside of the strip club? Or is this just like a text call type of thing at this point?

01:02:35 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm not even sure. I kind of just flunked her out after a while because it didn't sound like him.

01:02:42 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 1:

Let's talk to her because we got her on hold with us right now. Are you okay with us saying your name? Or do you not want us to say your name?

01:02:51 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 4:

Which name?

01:02:52 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 1:

what my name my my stripper our stripper friend that's on the phone with us okay yeah that's totally fine you can i can say your name your name's harper yeah and harper we were just having a conversation with carly uh some questions came up about carly's boyfriend have you guys ever

01:03:15 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 3:

met outside of the strip club yeah he's um tried to give me a call uh i met up with him once but

01:03:26 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 1:

i uh did not stay home why would you sell him out like this like why are you doing this if this is somebody that's a good customer of yours

01:03:40 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 3:

i don't know i mean i met his girlfriend she seems awesome i really enjoyed her company and i guess there's just uh it was a moral conscience thing and carly do you believe her that she's

01:03:57 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 4:

telling you the truth i think she believes what she's saying do you have you confronted

01:04:04 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Did you confront your boyfriend to say, hey? No.

01:04:09 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm always just so confused when, like, you say that you didn't want to confront him because it's a lot. But then you're going to be confronting him either way today.

01:04:19 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 4:

I know this doesn't make sense, but none of this doesn't.

01:04:25 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, why don't we do this? I'm going to have you guys mute your phones. We're going to call up Carly's boyfriend. while she's listening and the dancer who told her that her boyfriend is cheating is listening but you guys have to be quiet because it's going to be very difficult to do this if he suspects that this is a bunch of BS.

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

If I got it.

01:05:00 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I'm not mean.

01:05:01 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 3:

So can you guys hit mute on your phone?

01:05:04 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:05:06 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 3:

All right, War of the Roses. We're calling up John, and we hope the flowers go to Carly.

01:05:25 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

01:05:27 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, is this John?

01:05:30 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 5:

Uh, yeah, this is John.

01:05:32 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Hi, John. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. If you have, like, 30 seconds to answer two very short survey questions for me, we are going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that you can ship to the person of your choice anywhere in the country, free of charge. Not going to ask you for your credit card info.

01:05:53 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 5:

Hey, listen, I just want you to know I love Mojo in the morning. I mean, do I get any tickets with this as well or anything like that?

01:06:03 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, John.

01:06:04 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

01:06:05 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 1:

John. Yes. Hi, it's Shannon.

01:06:10 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. John, do you listen?

01:06:14 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 5:

I mean, well, if I wasn't a listener, I wouldn't have said anything.

01:06:19 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 3:

So, John, you actually know the Mojo in the Morning Show, so you know that we do a thing called the War of the Roses, which is what Shannon was calling you up as with rosesbloom.com.

01:06:32 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:06:33 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 2:

John, do you have any idea why we would be calling you for War of the Roses?

01:06:39 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Because my girlfriend wanted to know where I was going to send some flowers to.

01:06:43 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. And who's your girlfriend? Carly. Okay.

01:06:50 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 2:

Just making sure you got all the facts right.

01:06:52 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Carly, are you there? yeah carly is there and carly john uh is a listener of the show so uh this isn't gonna work but maybe we can actually surprise john some more john are you are you up for some surprises this morning i i i guess so i'm already in one all right well we got carly on the phone and so you john you would have sent the flowers to carly if you didn't listen to us right uh correct that warms your that's got to warm your heart carly

01:07:27 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 5:

yeah it's better than him not sending them to me right exactly john there's something else though

01:07:36 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 3:

that we have to surprise you with okay john we have another special guest on the phone uh with us right now that told carly that you are not to be trusted who it's a person by the name of harper

01:07:56 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 5:

i don't is that a guy or girl i don't know harper oh you know harper actually i don't

01:08:05 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 3:

think you know her as harper what what does he know you as he knows me as gabby Okay

01:08:15 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay John

01:08:20 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Gabby Gabby Who is the Professional Entertainer That you And Carly Like to go And see Told Carly Something about Your guys' relationship

01:08:36 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 5:

What could she know About that

01:08:38 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 4:

Um i don't know that you're sketchy that you like call up a lot of the dancers that you tried to go out with me that we met up and it was weird no no i would i don't do that

01:08:57 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 5:

i'm sorry i don't i don't do that i'm i'm already taken so why would i do that

01:09:03 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 4:

That's for other dancers. It's not just Gabby.

01:09:07 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:09:08 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:09:09 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Nothing like that. Of course not.

01:09:14 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 4:

That's a total lie. That's a complete lie.

01:09:16 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 5:

Why would you even say that? Why would you even put that in her head? That's not true.

01:09:20 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, why would she... You have an opportunity here to, like, best up and be a good person, and now you're being like an idiot. And that is...

01:09:31 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 5:

What is your... I'm not looking like an idiot. I don't understand your motive.

01:09:34 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 4:

No, you're making me look like an idiot.

01:09:37 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 5:

You started this, so I think you probably do.

01:09:41 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. Here's the thing. Why would she call us up with your girlfriend and put herself out on the line to say that she knows that you're doing this if she didn't believe that, or if this wasn't. Because she has no life, obviously.

01:10:04 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 2:

But wait a second. But she also, and I'm assuming this, and it's Harper, not Gabby, but her real name is Harper. But I'm assuming, Harper, that you have proof of him calling your phone and messages that are sent?

01:10:18 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 6:

And the other girls?

01:10:20 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I mean, I've deleted a lot of stuff, but I'm sure that it's in the cloud. I said I'm sure that it's in the cloud.

01:10:29 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. So you don't have it on your phone?

01:10:32 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 8:

No, I don't have it on my phone.

01:10:34 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 2:

So you don't have any proof of this? Do you delete things off your phone?

01:10:40 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I delete. Yeah, I got rid of stuff because I don't pay for all of that storage stuff.

01:10:46 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so you don't pay for all the storage stuff? It's just a text message or a call log?

01:10:52 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I like to just, like, clear my stuff. I don't know. Is that weird?

01:10:57 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

01:10:58 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 6:

this just doesn't make any sense you said he was sketched with other girls too so would they be

01:11:04 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 8:

able to huh i'm sure yeah i'm not like the only person like he is notorious around the club and he like honestly like he was really rude to one of my dearest friends she's an amazing dancer and she really likes you dude and you're oh my god here's the deal i i think that we i

01:11:28 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 2:

I think we need to get more proof than just the conversation that, you know, you guys are having right now. And I'm assuming, and this is all up to Carly. Carly, here's your boyfriend arguing with, you know, a stripper here. What are you thinking?

01:11:46 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 7:

I need more than this. If this is really going on, yeah, I need to talk to the other girls. I need to know.

01:11:55 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 3:

I can guarantee you I don't know if I didn't tip her well One night or what

01:12:01 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Why don't we do this Why don't you guys hang on one second We'll come back and we'll talk more

01:12:06 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay This is the home of

01:12:10 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning

01:12:21 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 1:

Call the show now 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548.

01:12:31 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask real quick, Harper, the stripper whose alias is Gabby. Do you have any stripper friends or anybody like that that we could call to ask and verify all those things that you just said?

01:12:50 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 8:

I feel like that's a lot. I don't know. I wouldn't want to, like...

01:12:56 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Why don't you do this?

01:12:58 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 6:

What if you pass on their information to Carly?

01:13:00 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes. No, pass on to us the information. Or text them yourself and then contact us and let us know what they say. Okay? Okay. Do that right now. Start texting them.

01:13:13 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

01:13:15 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 2:

Where are the roses? Thoughts on this? What's going on, Jeremy? How you doing?

01:13:23 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Good morning, Mojo.

01:13:24 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

How are you, buddy? We're, for recap purposes, a boyfriend-girlfriend who got contacted by the stripper, the girlfriend did, saying that her boyfriend says some really bad things when they are together as a couple at a strip club. You just heard the War of the Roses. What are your thoughts?

01:13:49 - 01:13:55 | Speaker 5:

He just sounds extremely guilty. Just the way he was talking, his tone of voice, it came off as super guilty.

01:13:56 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I felt the same way, too, but I felt the same way, too, until I started realizing what kind of non-evidence that the stripper has. You know? I mean, I felt like, okay, this guy definitely doesn't sound like he's, you know, telling us the truth, but then when she kind of got into the, well, I really don't have any of these messages anymore, and I don't save these things and all the rest of that stuff. Her argument kind of fell apart. Yeah.

01:14:24 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, that's fair, but just his tone of voice, but it was just, it sounded super, super weird.

01:14:30 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, he might just talk weird. He didn't even come off defensive or anything at all in the beginning. It was just, and maybe because he knew who it was, like he knew it was us, but I don't know. With her story falling apart, none of it really adds up.

01:14:42 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 6:

But I will say, but she's got, she could, all she has to do now is talk to the other girls and say, everybody corroborate this story.

01:14:50 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and I don't know if her story is falling apart A lot of people have automatic delete on text messages and stuff like that I don't feel like that's the issue here There are enough people

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 1:

saying he's acted this way towards me, I don't say, well, she doesn't have the text messages, so it's not true.

01:15:06 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 2:

And if you get in dances repeatedly, you know who Gabby is. Immediately, he's denying. He's like, who? Who are you? He said he didn't know who Harper was. Yeah, it was her real name. By the way, I love when I learn strippers' real names. And I'm like, wow, that would have been a good stripper name.

01:15:21 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 1:

I know, use it.

01:15:24 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 2:

Melissa, what's up? It's Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses. Hey, Mojo,

01:15:28 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 6:

how are you this morning? We're doing okay.

01:15:29 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 2:

They wore the roses with any time you can have, like, a stripper calling up. We're gold.

01:15:36 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 6:

You're gold.

01:15:37 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:15:37 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 6:

For sure. I got to tell you, he is a liar. I've been in situations similar to Gabby. I'm not a dancer, but definitely he is hiding something. And Gabby, get your friends. Get your friends. Get that proof because that's what you need, girl. You need that because poor Carly.

01:15:58 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What were your situations? You don't want to say what your situations were?

01:16:02 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 6:

I can say what a situation was. At work, for instance, there is someone I work with, and he is always constantly flirting with me. He's married. He's texted me, like, weird things. He got my phone number off of work schedule. And I do delete stuff because I don't want my husband to see it because I'm like, this is weird. He's not going to want me to work this. So I feel for Gabby.

01:16:25 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:16:25 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 6:

I really do.

01:16:27 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. What's going on, Jamie? What's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Where are the roses?

01:16:34 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. It's Jamie. Yeah, just a quick comment as far as the whole Gabby thing. I think it's a little too suspicious that she went to the lengths to delete stuff, even though she's going to the lengths to try to call him out.

01:16:46 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:16:46 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 4:

I heard the previous caller say that she should get her friends. So if there is legit evidence that he's doing this, then, yeah, she should get her friends. But I think personally, she's just going to the links to try to get them away from her so she can have them all to herself. So then why would she go to the links to delete that if she was going to go to the links to call them out?

01:17:04 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 2:

So wait, so you're saying that the stripper wants the girlfriend?

01:17:08 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 4:

No, not the boyfriend, not the girlfriend.

01:17:11 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 2:

Want the boyfriend, okay.

01:17:12 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 1:

If she wanted him, why contact the wife, get on her side, and then call him out for his...

01:17:17 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 2:

It's girlfriend, yeah.

01:17:19 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, girlfriend.

01:17:22 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that what a homewrecker does? To create problems in the relationship, right? Yeah, and then that way you can get in when everything's all messed up. And not to mention, just previously, you guys were talking about the partner snatchers or something like that. So, I mean, why would this not fit the description?

01:17:39 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 1:

But she was already winning. And her, like, for the dancer, she was already getting his attention. Why? Why? I don't know. Why blow it up when she already? Like, that just seems more effort than just hooking up with a guy.

01:17:51 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Let me grab Carly again here. Carly, are you believing any of this stuff that is being said and what's happened so far?

01:18:00 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 5:

To be honest with you, no. Why would all the girls keep fire against him?

01:18:07 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, and we only have one that's talking right now, so we don't know about all the girls yet, but hold on one second. John, there's a lot of doubters, but there's also some people that do agree with you. We're going to try to get into Maybe possibly other people To contact us To tell us if you've been Reaching out to them Can I ask a quick question You guys real quick Both you and I got you and Carly on the phone Why do you guys go to strip clubs Like as a couple Is it just the thrill of going there as a couple

01:18:44 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 5:

It used to be really fun

01:18:48 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 2:

and and from what you know harper gabby uh says to us you guys each go back and and get private

01:18:57 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 5:

dances without each other sometimes occasionally it's not off those things who gets more private

01:19:05 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 4:

dances I don't I mean you know we don't I don't keep track can't really say I do okay hang on

01:19:24 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 2:

one second again and Dustin what's up it's mojo in the morning hey mojo hey how you doing buddy not too bad how you doing today good you dated a stripper so you know the drama that some of this

01:19:40 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

can cause yes i do uh actually i had a situation where i was dating a stripper and i had another stripper get jealous and try causing an issue saying i was cheating with her so i kind of feel that she is saying this.

01:20:00 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 5:

With not having any of this proof, I feel she's just being jealous and trying to cause issues because she wants to be with him.

01:20:07 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 7:

Literally the same exact thing. Yeah.

01:20:09 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's kind of what I get by this.

01:20:13 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 7:

What ended up happening in your situation? Like, how did you believe that you weren't cheating?

01:20:18 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 5:

I just, she was watching me, and I just, I'd never touched her. Like, she would always come over, like, my girlfriend would watch me while I come, because I would go up there, like, the last two hours of the night to pick her up. and she would watch me. Like, she would come over to talk to me, and I would ignore her. And she finally realized that. So she realized that she was lying, trying to cause problems.

01:20:40 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 2:

Can you make a stripper a wife?

01:20:46 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 5:

I'm not going to say no, but I'm going to say it would probably be very hard.

01:20:49 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I would have a hard time with that. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I would have a hard time, especially if they wanted to stay in the occupation, you know?

01:20:58 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, if you can get them when they're early in their occupation, probably. But once they get into them private parties and everything, no, because they like that money. They like the attention.

01:21:10 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Dave wants to say something that actually is interesting. Dave, you're not alone in your comment. What's that?

01:21:18 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, if he was cheating on her, he would have just sent the roses to her if he knew how the show worked.

01:21:25 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Right. Like, if he was cheating. That's very interesting. Yeah, just play along and go with it and do the whole thing.

01:21:31 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely. Send her the flowers, and that would have been the end of the whole thing.

01:21:35 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no discussion at all. And he was so quick about saying hi to a girlfriend, yeah.

01:21:41 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but I'm saying, and he jumped right on and said, hey, I know this is a mojo show, and, you know, let's put this out there.

01:21:49 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So, yeah. I don't know. I don't believe. And why would you believe her?

01:21:54 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 2:

Well.

01:21:55 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 7:

What do you mean? I mean, what do you say it like that? Yeah, what do you mean? I mean, you know.

01:22:01 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 2:

Hashtag believe women.

01:22:02 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 6:

Like, yeah, like the other guy said, you know, maybe she's just jealous of them. I don't know. Lots of them, I don't know.

01:22:08 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it did sound like there was some stripper drama that happened with Gabby, and I think she said another dancer.

01:22:14 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 2:

People say that we have said numerous times that you've got to trust women in situations like this, and we're now not holding to it just because of her occupation, And that's why people are saying that we're swaying on that. Marlene, what's up? Where are the roses?

01:22:30 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, beautiful people. Good morning, Marlene. What's up, Marlene? Okay, just hear me out here, okay? I got a theory. The strippers got cool with the wife. And they're all in the backstage saying, man, we can't keep doing her like this. The wife, you know, she tips us good. She comes in here. She supports us. We got to let her know what her husband is doing. So they probably don't care about other husbands because they don't know the wives, but they have formed like a connection with her because she comes to the strip joint so often. And if I was Gabby, I would just let her keep getting cheated on. Get that money. I mean, do what you do.

01:23:12 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, why do you think that she's not just allowing that to happen? Maybe she does have a good moral compass, though, Marlene.

01:23:20 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 4:

But when she brought it up, look what happened. Oh, well, why don't you have proof? Why would you do it? Okay, I'm sorry I even said anything. You know, she probably is like, you know, the wife is good people, you guys. We've got to stop doing her like this. I'm going to let her know what's been going on backstage or when she doesn't come, when he comes by himself. It could have started out like, oh, well, forget her. We're going to do what we do. And then they built that connection.

01:23:46 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what?

01:23:46 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 4:

So that could be why.

01:23:47 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 2:

i'm gonna let me i'm gonna bring her back on with us the stripper uh so i'm gonna bring harper back on with us and and um her stage name is gabby her real name is harper and i wanted to just ask this because i didn't ask you this initially when we were uh making the phone call for war of the roses has the husband or the boyfriend john has he ever said anything to you that carly should like ever know that you haven't told either Carly ahead of time or even told us right now oh yeah what

01:24:23 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 3:

what has he said to you he has said I want to try and take you out again because like I I didn't I thought that he was like in an open thing with Carly and so that's why I went out with him and then i found out that they were exclusive and so i was like wait that's super weird and i why would i do that because it's not like like carly's also like a customer she comes through to the club all the time with him but like he comes alone oh man hold on what's that

01:25:00 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 2:

Carly, did you know that John goes alone to the club?

01:25:04 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 3:

No. I didn't know that. When does he go alone?

01:25:14 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 2:

Harper, when does he go alone?

01:25:18 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 4:

Like, it's kind of like weird hours, like business hours, like during the day and stuff.

01:25:28 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 2:

John, any truth to that?

01:25:30 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 5:

And how come that's been a secret from Carly?

01:25:40 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

She obviously was not aware.

01:25:44 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 5:

I've never tried to make it a secret. It's just, that's how it, you know, breaks out, I guess.

01:25:53 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 3:

So how am I supposed to trust you?

01:25:57 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 5:

How are you supposed to trust me? Are you really believing this person who calls and hits people?

01:26:04 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, you're completely and totally saying that you called during the day. I didn't even know that. Why did I have to find out now, like this?

01:26:12 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't think it's, I mean, that's like me going to get a burger or something, you know?

01:26:17 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that's a fair comparison. You're a liar.

01:26:22 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 5:

I'm a liar because I didn't tell you about a place I was at.

01:26:27 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel like lying.

01:26:29 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 5:

You never asked me if I went there, so I could see if I said no.

01:26:33 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was our thing. Why would I ask you?

01:26:36 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 2:

Hold on one sec. We're going to let you guys talk off here. All right. Mojo on the morning show. On the phone with us right now is, in her entertainer name, is Casey. What do you like to be called?

01:26:49 - 01:26:49 | Unknown:

Casey.

01:26:50 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Casey? What do you like to be called title-wise? Dancer?

01:26:54 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, dancer or entertainer.

01:26:56 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Dancer or entertainer. Okay. Casey's here talking about this situation. Now, you're not one of the dancers that works with Gabby, do you, or Harper?

01:27:07 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 4:

No, I do not.

01:27:08 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay. We were just doing War of the Roses and had a stripper, dancer, entertainer tell a girlfriend of a guy that her guy was a no-good son of a bee and didn't really have something to back it up other than just stories of what he has said to her, and then we did find out that he likes to go to the club when she's not there. They used to go, it's just a couple. What do you have to say to this?

01:27:39 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, typically when we have customers that come into our club or regulars, sometimes there are other dancers. When you walk into a club, it's basically about money, so other dancers will pretend to be your friends but will go after that customer so i'm assuming that gabby here might have had him as a potential customer when um his wife was not there then maybe another dancer had met him on an off day and he came in and decided he liked a different dancer instead and maybe gabby you know caught feelings for him and got jealous for the fact that he's spending his money on a different dancer now instead of her. So I feel like this might be backlash towards it.

01:28:25 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

Like a little revenge, right?

01:28:27 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

01:28:28 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Have you seen that happen before?

01:28:30 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 4:

Yes, all the time. Dancers will fight over customers as well, and they get very, very protective of their money when they have reoccurring customers come in.

01:28:39 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Casey, have you ever seen it, though, where, as was the case in this instance, once a dancer was reaching out to a spouse at home or a partner or whatever, just out of spite?

01:28:53 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen that where a dancer's actually reached out to a customer or, you know, their partner. This is something that I was totally out of the blue. That's why I'm calling in. I think that it might just be out of pure jealousy, honestly. And maybe that once he realized he maybe found a better dancer or somebody that he likes, likes that he's going to her instead and giving her his money um she's just upset and she's jealous um to also see you know where that rates of money's going that's a that's a good point

01:29:27 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 2:

yeah check the financial yeah and see what's happening thank you i've actually had a customer

01:29:33 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 4:

uh wife reach try reaching out on me on facebook when they saw that he had cast at me and trying to figure out, like, who are you, like, why are you cashing up another woman?

01:29:42 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 2:

You can cash app at a strip club?

01:29:46 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's what a lot of dancers do. Nowadays, they use cash app in Moselle.

01:29:51 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's the high-tech way of going to do things. Making it rain is over.

01:29:55 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

And then the ATM has a service fee of, like, $10 at a time.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 2:

What do you put in the little comment section? I don't know. What do you put? A peach.

01:30:05 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. In my mind, they have a QR code on their body somewhere, and you just scan it.

01:30:09 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Right. Do you have a QR code that you'll just show them on your phone or anything?

01:30:13 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just pull up my cast number, my Venmo, and just have them scan it.

01:30:15 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 2:

Let them do it. Isn't that amazing? Unbelievable. Karina, what's up?

01:30:21 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I actually was a dancer, stripper my first two years of adulthood. And, yeah, so I actually am married now. I heard some gentlemen say, you know, can you, you know, marry a dancer? Well, I was a dancer. And in my experience, being a dancer, it comes with a lot. And jealousy is a huge thing. And in my experience, yeah, dating while doing that profession is extremely hard, I guess, to do. and um i guess my recommendation is if you're going to be in a serious committed relationship maybe don't go to a club because it just asks for trouble but i don't know i feel like the the dancer calling in saying something to the to the girlfriend or whatever um she may have something you know that's honest and when she said you know she clears her logs clears her text when i was a dancer i did the same thing like so was it a popular thing to see couples come in together like oh yeah they did they did a lot and um in my stream guys that would have girlfriends or wives they would come in alone as well and see other women so all right well thank

01:31:46 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 2:

you for the call okay thank you bye appreciate it by the way that was how do you make it rain on a cash app i don't know you were still thinking about that you think about the technology of that thing um all right uh that's uh war of the roses right now here in the mojo in the morning show i don't think i stayed on a war of the roses in the history of war of the roses longer than when i've had a stripper that was on hold and i was waiting for other strippers to call up like i mean usually it's like all right guys gotta move on and whatever the next thing we're gonna do on the show but all right um mojo on the morning show it's the mexican soccer coach

01:32:30 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 3:

mike what's up so my daughter and i don't know if you've ever been uh stereotype based on your looks or your race or ethnicity or whatever immediately and it's like one of those things where it's it's not necessarily true for you specifically but my daughter has just started all her camps she's got a curiosity camp the next couple weeks she's got a soccer camp coming up in like a month and so like some of the parents in that soccer camp have reached out to me and they they said hey would you be interested in like helping like coach like that full-on coach or whatever but like an assistant coach type type of situation and I got to thinking why would they ever ask me to like I've never talked about soccer I've honestly genuinely never played soccer as a sport ever other than maybe kicking a ball in my backyard and then I'm like did they think because I'm Mexican I'm immediately just naturally good at soccer or that I my family history has soccer in it and they may have asked other dads I don't know but it feels like they just went, hmm, well, this guy is Mexican. He must be good at soccer.

01:33:35 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 2:

Is that a thing, by the way?

01:33:37 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Mexicans are great

01:33:39 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 2:

at soccer? Usually the people that I know that are really into soccer are usually ethnic of some sort. I see a lot of my Albanian friends also that are into

01:33:51 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 3:

soccer, too. It's like the number one sport in the world everywhere, but you're right.

01:33:57 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 2:

The kids love soccer, too. The kids, I mean, they obviously love it. So you think that they think that you're a soccer player just because you're Mexican?

01:34:05 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't think they were being, like, rude about it. And they may have, like I said, they may have asked other dads, but I think they just went, huh, he probably really likes soccer or is into soccer, so he'd be excited about this.

01:34:16 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that they had, like, a meeting, a pre-camp meeting, and they said, we need a soccer coach. Ask the kids who got the Mexican dad to come out here and do this whole thing. Cecily Aguilar.

01:34:27 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's into soccer.

01:34:28 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

do you know anything about uh about any of the sports i mean could you coach any sport mike uh football i could probably you could do yeah i could um i could probably not not football in this case though right no no no like american football baseball i could do too i played a lot of baseball okay because of uh that's the thing the the worst is and i had to coach a soccer team once but i was an assistant coach and the head coach didn't know anything about soccer either and he ended up buying every book about soccer and he had me come to his house.

01:35:00 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 5:

and we were reading books about soccer. And I said, this team's going to be the worst team ever. And we were sitting around. Like, we were trying to figure out on YouTube drills to do and things like that. And we went to, like, Dunham's and bought a bunch of, like, little cones to put out there.

01:35:13 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel like the majority of the coaches, especially when it's, like, T-ball time, literally, are dads. I remember taking a Josiah to a T-ball, and they were just running around the bases. I'm like, are they ever going to hit? Like, what are you teaching these kids?

01:35:28 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 2:

At least they run around the beach. They're just running. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach.

01:35:33 - 01:35:34 | Unknown:

They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach. They just run around the beach.

01:35:34 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 5:

Those are actually smart coaches, though, that make your kids run in the beginning. Make them tired, and then they actually kind of pay attention. So, Mike, you're saying that it was the stereotype of you being Mexican that made them think this.

01:35:47 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, there's a lot of stereotypes that are true. That's why there are stereotypes. But there are some that don't apply to everybody. Like, I'm not a good landscaper, just so you know. I'm not a good—I'm not, okay? So don't ask.

01:36:00 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 5:

You have no green thumb.

01:36:01 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 4:

No, no. But I am, like, passionate about my family, and, you know, I'm into Mexican food, but I don't like spicy food. I hate spicy food. Isn't that amazing?

01:36:11 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 5:

By the way, that is a very interesting stereotype that you don't fall the victim of, that you

01:36:14 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 4:

don't like spicy food. Yeah. Is there anything that applies to, like, you guys? Like, if somebody was to look at you and immediately stereotype you.

01:36:20 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 2:

My name's Shannon Murphy. I'm as Irish as you can get, but I will not drink a Guinness, and my dad always says, you are not my daughter, because I don't like Guinness.

01:36:29 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I mean, I'm black, so everybody, I guess, thinks I'm late. I don't think I'm late. I'm making a point, too. Like, I'm not about to be the late black guy. That's not about to be my story. Actually, to be honest with you, you're on time every morning.

01:36:43 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it happens. Although I will say that. Although, I went to your gender reveal, and you and Sherelle, you guys showed up like an hour after the gender reveal started.

01:36:54 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's different. That's different. We made an entrance. You made an entrance.

01:36:57 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 5:

By the way, did I tell you guys that they had a walk-up song? You did.

01:37:01 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 3:

I texted DJ. I was like, bro, play something. We're pulling up in 30 seconds. He's like, you want me to play? I'm like, just play something. And of course, well, this may be a stereotype, but it's a fly song. The Earth, Wind, and Fire is like the black national anthem if you go to a cookout. Everybody's going to play this No matter what cookout Wait, what song is it? It's Before I Let Go From Earthworm Yeah

01:37:20 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 5:

By the way By the way, I am also black And you should see me dance I am an amazing I can do the whole Michael Jackson moonwalk thing Actually, everybody thinks Because I'm Cuban That I speak Spanish So they'll start speaking Spanish to me And all I do is no swear word

01:37:36 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 3:

You know what I hate? Yeah I hate when people say Hey, brother Like, what are you talking about? You never say that I guarantee you never say that it's not a thing we don't walk around slapping hands like hey bro it doesn't happen what's up

01:37:50 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 1:

kristin how you doing hi good um i was just calling in i just wanted to say that i thought that maybe um mike was kind of maybe reading into it a little bit too much um it could have been that maybe they were looking at like where schedules i'm just thinking like oh we just need to fill a spot maybe we just need somebody to help volunteer so it had nothing to do with

01:38:11 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 4:

You don't think they looked at me and said, well, he's a short Hispanic man. You look fast with your feet, Mike.

01:38:21 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 5:

Right, right. What's going on, Susan?

01:38:24 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you're talking about stereotypical coaches.

01:38:27 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:38:27 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 7:

I was a flag football coach for my son when he was in elementary school as a mom.

01:38:33 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wow.

01:38:33 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 7:

And we did pretty well.

01:38:36 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you know what? Can I tell you what? We got, we, our soccer team got beat by the, the all mom coaching teams all the freaking time. The, you know why the kids listen to the mom, uh, coaches.

01:38:49 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 7:

Actually, that's not always true. Really? My son was, no, he was on a baseball team with one of his friends. He wouldn't listen to what I said. So the other kids, mom and I decided to, I would tell her son things and she would tell my son things to do. Oh yeah. Yeah.

01:39:04 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 5:

That's in anything though. That's me coaching basketball. I would have another dad go grab my son and take him to the other end of the court, and I would always take his kid. What's up, Donnell?

01:39:15 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 6:

No, it's Donnell. D-O-N-Y-E-L-L. Good morning to everyone. Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? I want to say welcome to Kevin. Welcome to the show. I listen every morning. He actually knows my daughter. He does. Okay, but I was calling to correct you. Who's the daughter? You named the song. You said Earth, Wind, and Fire, but it is Frankie Beverly and May. I said Earth, Wind?

01:39:42 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm going to need you to ask.

01:39:43 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 3:

I did? I said Earth, Wind?

01:39:45 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 5:

Are we sure? You have just lost your black card.

01:39:48 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 3:

Look, are we sure?

01:39:49 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 6:

Is this one of those replay moments? What did you name the song? What did you say? Before I Let Go.

01:39:55 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:39:55 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 6:

That is Frankie Beverly and May.

01:39:58 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 5:

By the way, he now, he's.

01:40:00 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 2:

now is no longer officially black. I just want you to know that.

01:40:04 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm not black people!

01:40:07 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. By the way, who's your daughter? Because I want to know if there's any more to the story that we should know.

01:40:13 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Chelsea. Do you know Chelsea? Chelsea Stowers?

01:40:18 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea Stowers. Not by name alone. I would say no. If I'm your attorney, I say no.

01:40:22 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 1:

If you saw her, you would know. Just Chelsea, her Instagram. I know you. you know her because when i told her you were on this show she kind of gave me your background

01:40:33 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 2:

because i didn't know who you wait a second what did she say was a good background or what we

01:40:37 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 1:

needed to know background oh yeah she gave you 100 mark that's why i'm not calling with shade i'm just calling i like that i love you mama daniel let's just say you're a son from another mother and father and i had to call because i heard your mom when she called to highly praise

01:40:55 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Well, nice to meet you. Thank you for calling.

01:40:58 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 1:

Can you keep calling in to put him in his place, though, please?

01:41:01 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

I've never seen him so afraid, by the way. Because it can go any way. Yeah. Hold on. Aretha, what's up?

01:41:10 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning. I just wanted to say, first of all, welcome, Kevin. Welcome to the show. Appreciate it. And then also, I have to tell you that your card is revoked. It's not Earth, Wind, and Fire. Yeah, she does that already. They're piling on you. Are you sure that wasn't Mojo that said it? No, you definitely said it. I said Earth Wind? Here's the deal.

01:41:31 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Here's the deal. He's now coaching Mike's kids' soccer team. Real quick before I get into the next topic and to the dirty, our buddy Jeff Zaqua is back because iHeartRadio and the Mojo in the Morning Show are going to be sponsoring an event that is this Friday, and it is to benefit Defeat the Label, which is a great organization that focuses on anti-bullying and Jeff is back because Whitney Cummings, the famed comedian, is going to be here on Friday at Motor City Soundboard, and Jeffrey would like to talk about that. Hi, Jeff.

01:42:05 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know everybody hopefully has some cash left after Taylor Swift. And we do have parking, and we do have seats. That's why I'm here today. So if you don't like the cause, maybe you'll laugh, and if you want to laugh, maybe you'll like the cause. So we got about 400 tickets left, and I know this is the place for people to go online, go to defeatthelabel.com or Ticketmaster at the soundboard. It's going to be a great show. We've got a great emcee. His name is Mojo. You've probably heard of him. Yes. And we're ecstatic about having somebody of her talent level, and we have a lot of laughs because, if you know me, sometimes you just laugh off your anger or your sadness, which is what this show is all about anyhow.

01:42:48 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 2:

So defeatthelabel.com or ticketmaster.com. And if you want to see Whitney Cummings doing her stand-up at Motor City Soundboard, it's this Friday night, and it benefits a great organization. So you can go check that out. Can we give away a pair just for the fun of things? We can give away two pair. Two pair. All right. Let's go. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. 844-MOJO-LIVE is the number to call in. Jeff, that's pretty good, though. I mean, you think about this. You sold that many tickets in a couple weeks' period of time. You only got 400 tickets left?

01:43:28 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 3:

400 tickets left. We want it sold out. And you can say Utah's Taylor Swift and Whitney Houston. Excuse Whitney Houston. Whitney Cummings. Whitney Cummings in the same week. Whitney Cummings.

01:43:39 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 1:

It's a great venue, too. It is the best venue.

01:43:42 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 3:

They've been great to work with. I can't say enough good things about them.

01:43:46 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 2:

Actually, if you've never gone to Motor City Soundboard to see a comedian or doing any onstage stand-up stuff, we've gone numerous times. I was there and got a chance to host that Andy Cohen.

01:43:59 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was just there a few weeks ago for Cat and Cat.

01:44:00 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

Watch What Happens, which was great. Yeah, and then that was great, too. You came back the next day. That was a cool free show. The cool thing is, usually you go to comedy clubs, they're all cramped in, and you're really tight inside the place, and it's hot and sweaty, and you can't get your drinks enough at the bar or whatever. this thing is obviously nice and big and fun so Jeremy would you like to go yeah Jeremy you're a winner say hi to our friend Jeff

01:44:23 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 3:

Jeremy look forward to seeing you there I'll be the fat bald guy on stage wait a second then what am I then

01:44:31 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 2:

the fat non bald guy

01:44:34 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 3:

I introduce you I think you we haven't figured it out yet

01:44:38 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Jeremy have you ever got a chance to like just watch a bunch of Whitney Cummings, you know, kind of go-off comedy that she'll have? Yes, I've watched her Netflix special before, too. So good. She's an awesome comedian. Yeah, she's great. So you got a pair of tickets. Congratulations. And if your friends want tickets, tell them to go to defeatthelabel.com.

01:45:00 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 5:

Kelsey, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Kelsey, congratulations. You are also a winner. Yeah. Thank you. We're going to set you up with a pair of tickets. Awesome. All right. Whitney Cummings, but here's the deal. You got to do something. Since you're getting free tickets, if they pass a hat or do any kind of a donation thing that night, make a nice donation or do something nice or drink heavily or something. I don't know. Support them. Absolutely. Support them at the bar. Yep. Okay? You got it. We don't get any of the revenue from the bar. No, you don't? Oh, God. So, Jeff, if somebody wants to just make a donation, like if they can't go on Friday, and, you know, you guys have been there for many, many schools in our listening areas where you guys will go in and you guys will do the programs that help the schools that they don't get funding for to talk to the kids and to be able to educate them about the fact that even just a simple thing that you might do in a text message or a simple thing that you might do online in a comment on you know uh snapchat or instagram could cause enormous pain for the rest of somebody's life or end of life yeah yeah so yes what was that staff that you said last year uh about the or last week about oh 160 000 students don't go to

01:46:13 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 6:

school each day because they're afraid to go which if you take ufm stadium take that one and a half times that just blows me away it's and well how about all the ones that go that are scared yeah yeah it's have you have you uh as a young parent now experience anything like this yeah yeah it's

01:46:31 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 5:

yeah so it's uh pathetic it's awful and honestly it's gotten it seems like younger and younger

01:46:36 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 1:

yeah and not just verbal but we we've experienced it in a physical manner as well and had to get a principal involved and it's it is it's terrible yeah truthfully what's sad for the for the schools

01:46:47 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 6:

and the administration, they have enough work to do. Yeah. And now this just – Yeah, it's horrible.

01:46:54 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 5:

Jeff Sack was actually speechless. I know.

01:46:57 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 1:

What the heck is happening?

01:46:59 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 5:

Defeatthelabel.com. You can hang out, Jeff, if you want to. We're going to do some dirty.

01:47:03 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:47:06 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 5:

All right, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:47:08 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 1:

Well, Nikola Jokic led Denver to its first NBA title in team history last night as the Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat 94-89 in Game 5. This was the end of the game.

01:47:18 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 2:

We'll go. Rebound called on Pope. They're not going to foul. They're eating a wetted play out. It's over. At last, the long wait is over. After 47 years, the Denver Nuggets can finally call themselves NBA champions.

01:47:36 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 1:

Jokic, also named MVP, Miami's Jimmy Butler, finished with 21 points.

01:47:42 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 3:

You said after the Lakers win, you said you were surprised that you didn't feel more. So I'm curious what you are feeling right now, and if you're looking forward to a parade coming up in Denver. Venice parade. Venice parade. Thursday. No. I need to go home.

01:48:04 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay. He's over it, man.

01:48:10 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 4:

You want to know something interesting? Stan Krokey, who owns the Nuggets, has won four championships in the past year and a half. He owns the Rams, who won in 2022. The Colorado Mammoth, who has the National Lacrosse League Championship in 2022. The Colorado Avalanche, who won the Stanley Cup in 2022. And now the Denver Nuggets. Wow. He is on a roll. Can we have him by the Tigers?

01:48:32 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 6:

Have him by everything.

01:48:34 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 5:

He also married well.

01:48:36 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 1:

In other NBA news, the Pistons will officially introduce our new head coach, Monty Williams, at a news conference today. I think 4.30 p.m. at the practice facility. All of the big wigs in the Pistons franchise will be there to welcome him. Again, he is going to be making $78.5 million, guaranteed over six years. This is actually good. With more cash possible through incentives.

01:48:59 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 5:

Because they say that a lot of the NBA players don't listen to the coach because they don't make as much money as the players. Well, now they've got a coach that makes as much money as the players. Now they all won't listen to each other.

01:49:11 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Actor Elliot Page, formerly Ellen Page, important part to the story, claimed he was groomed by a male movie director when he was just a teenager. In his new memoir, Page Boy, Elliot recalls an inappropriate dinner with an unnamed but famous filmmaker. Man allegedly whispered to Elliot, you have to make the move because I can't. while stroking Elliot, again then Ellen's, thigh under the table. The Juno star alleged that the grooming took place at a little diner in downtown Toronto. Elliot says the man frequently texted him, brought him gifts, did all of these things to make him feel special, and then came the harassment. The actor also recalling several other instances of alleged on-set sexual harassment in a chapter titled Leeches in Page Boy, while working on a project not long before the encounter under the...

01:50:00 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 3:

the table with that director a crew member did the exact same thing um and then in a separate incident that allegedly took place when elliot was filming hard candy which is 17 years old at the time one of the crew members tried to have sex with him at the movie's wrap party it was theater's biggest night the tony awards after party at the famous carlisle hotel everybody was there from Jessica Chastain to Ben Platt to Aaron Rodgers. Huh? The edit bell star went viral during the Tonys. I don't know if you were watching, Megan, when a camera caught him looking just very confused sitting in the audience. It was so

01:50:38 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 2:

weird that he was there. People were commenting

01:50:40 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 3:

and I loved this. They were commenting on social media things like Aaron Rodgers at the Tonys is like Nathan Lane at the Espy's. Why was he there? Well, he was seen mingling not only at the awards show but also at after parties telling people he actually was having a great time but he had come to support his teammate Jets tight end CJ Uzuma is that how you say his last name I don't know but he's a producer on the Broadway play Ain't No Mo and so he was there just supporting his friend and you know a lot of people did not know who he was which was kind of nice for him but

01:51:13 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 1:

he's been going to anything in New York

01:51:16 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 3:

and he's loving

01:51:17 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 1:

he goes to all the games he goes to theater shows he's been going to... I guess at the after

01:51:22 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 3:

party, somebody asked, who is that guy over there? And someone said, oh, he's a Jet. And the person was like, oh, in West Side Story. And he was like, no, like the football team.

01:51:34 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something pretty cool and local for the Tonys this year? Yes. A graduate from Archibald High School won a Tony this year. She has a role in Kimberly Akimbo, and she won for Best Supporting Actress. Congrats. That's really cool. Very cool.

01:51:49 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, big story today. Former President Donald Trump appearing in a federal courthouse in Miami this afternoon. The Justice Department again accusing Trump of improperly handling some classified national security documents that were taken to Mar-a-Lago after he left the White House. He is facing 37 felony counts. The mayor of Miami and the Miami police chief holding a press conference late last night as officials anticipate some potential violence today. Major traffic delays near the courthouse They're just saying, look Everybody has the right to peacefully express yourself And exercise your constitutional rights Just please do so in a lawful and orderly manner

01:52:27 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 1:

They say that they're prepared for between 5,000 and 50,000 people to show up there Interesting, we may get or may not get a mugshot Usually federal, they don't release the mugshots But I didn't know this there's no ink on the fingers for when you do the fingerprints anymore. It's all digital. That's the case. And then they were saying that he will immediately leave and go right to New Jersey to his club in New Jersey and do some kind of a fundraiser or something like that right after the thing's all said and done.

01:53:01 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, home of the War of the Roses. Second date update. Five Lies Tell Your Mom Am I the A-Hole Throwback Throwdown And of course The Dirty on the 30 It's Mojo with Shannon Megan, Mike, Kev, KP and Lydia Kev is about to step in it again I'm telling you man This might be three for three from you on this one here buddy I'm not scared I'm going to tell you my truth I'll tell you my truth. This man, for those who don't know Kev, if you've not met Kev yet, you can go check him out on all of our social media platforms. He is new to the show. Kev works for us here on the Mojo in the Morning show, but also has jobs working in the area for some very, very amazing sports programs. One, he is working for the Detroit Pistons. He's the in-stadium announcer. for the detroit pistons then he also for college basketball purposes and college football purposes works for the spartans the michigan state spartans you saw him at breslin center last uh this past season and you will soon see him uh when he is working football games this fall all right now that I set you up. Yeah.

01:55:00 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you. I didn't have to do that. What you got? Yeah, so really exciting time. And I'm really excited to get back to stadiums and interacting live with the fans. And for this particular football season, there is a huge game happening Thanksgiving week, November 24th. The Spartans will play against Penn State in a nationally televised game at Ford Field.

01:55:26 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a game that a lot of people are like going, Wait a second. Is that a good idea or a bad idea? But they're going to have more fans there, right?

01:55:33 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is an incredible idea. The only bad part is, you guys know I just had a gender reveal, and the baby's due date is like the 22nd. So same time. So it's literally the same time. And I feel like, you know, hopefully the baby comes on the 22nd, and if it does, I feel like I should be able to go to work on the 24th just for a couple hours. I don't think I need to be at home for it.

01:55:58 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 6:

This is not your first kid, right? Nah. Oh, okay.

01:56:02 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 7:

But it's your first kid with Shara.

01:56:05 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is our first kid together. It is her first child. But we have an incredible group of folks. You know, it takes a village. And if I could step out for three hours not to go to the bar or to hang out with one of our lovely dancing listeners, I'm going to be at work.

01:56:23 - 01:56:23 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:56:23 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? For a couple hours. I don't think that's wrong. Okay, my dad did this when I was born. He had a gig. He was playing guitar, and he left right after I was born to go.

01:56:33 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 5:

Like how soon after you were born?

01:56:34 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 2:

I think my mom said that night. Obviously, your mom remembered it because you are still talking about it.

01:56:42 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 7:

I am now 24 years old.

01:56:43 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 6:

Still talking about it. How was your relationship with your dad?

01:56:46 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey, don't bring that up. Well, I'm not leaving the same night.

01:56:50 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 5:

By the way, she also neglected to tell you that her dad and mom are no longer together right now. There's probably good reason for that, right?

01:56:57 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Sherelle's not a fan of the idea, but I feel like if everything goes according to plan, and the baby's born on the 22nd, the game's on the 24th, I feel like that's enough time.

01:57:07 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 5:

All right, so. I'm shaking my head right now. Because honestly, like Mike and I have said this before, you're making us look good right now. Thank you. Right, Mike?

01:57:20 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, this is a rare opportunity for Kev, too. It's not like a normal day of work. This is something a little bit more special, kind of a rarer occasion. I get where he's coming from.

01:57:34 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so you're saying that his job is not like anybody else's job. He's an in-stadium announcer, and they can't go one day without him there.

01:57:41 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 3:

My dad could have gotten famous. Well, he's not saying that he wants to go to a regular game that he normally does. He's saying he wants to go to a special game that doesn't really happen.

01:57:49 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 4:

And not that I'm going to have a baby born every day, but, I mean, you know, they don't play football every day.

01:57:54 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but they're not going to play in a stadium again at another time? Are you going to have a girl? It's not going to be for a field.

01:58:00 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 5:

You know what you need to do, by the way? What you need to do is you need to bring Shirelle and the baby to Ford Field for the game. That would be wonderful. And they can wear those little headphones that you see those little kids wearing, like the little sound headphones.

01:58:13 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 7:

Two days old.

01:58:14 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 5:

By the way, what happens if... She's probably still going to be in the hospital. What if Shirelle...

01:58:18 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 7:

What if she has a C-section?

01:58:19 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 5:

Or what if she doesn't give birth yet? What if she's late? And what if she's still, will you not do your gig if she's still pregnant?

01:58:27 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm giving myself a two-day window. Oh, God. If the baby is born on the 24th, then I probably shouldn't go.

01:58:34 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 7:

No, probably. Oh, my gosh.

01:58:38 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 6:

You are building a Michigan fan with that little girl.

01:58:40 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 7:

This is also your chance to show Sherelle and new baby girl your dedication.

01:58:46 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 5:

This is when she needs you the most. Here's the thing. I want you to call us up and tell us if you or your spouse, you had the baby and they still went to work that day. And what did they do for a living? Or how soon did they go back to work? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Or where did they go? That's the other one, too. Listen, if you were going to the bar to go drink and dance, like you always said, that would be even a worse thing than this.

01:59:11 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 6:

There is nothing. There is nothing. It is the birth of your child.

01:59:15 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 3:

Mike, you are ridiculous. You literally were talking about coming to work the next day. Exactly. You have no room to talk on this. He wanted to work from his living room.

01:59:25 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 6:

He was like, I'm my third kid, I'm my third child, and I already have a boy and a girl, and I didn't do it. This is a bad idea. You're just a hypocrite. That's because Mojo said, don't do it.

01:59:35 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 4:

You wouldn't. It's true, by the way. Ron, what's going on?

01:59:39 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. Love this show. Listen, as far as going to work, I'm a wedding DJ. My second child was born at 1 in the morning. I DJed at 3 in the afternoon that day. My third child was slated to be born in the afternoon. When we went in at 8 o'clock in the morning, the baby was born at noon because of Pitocin. I DJed at 5.

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 5:

that afternoon, you can do it. Oh, gee. Yeah, Ron!

02:00:04 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Ron! Terrible advice. Yeah, Ron! It was the best time. We went to both weddings with the hospital bracelet.

02:00:13 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 3:

Hang on the phone, mother! Are you still married?

02:00:16 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 4:

No. I hung up on him already. I know. I'll answer for him. What's up, Melissa? Hi.

02:00:22 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. Hi. Nothing much. All right. I agree with Kevin and Meg. Sorry. I have two daughters myself. 14 and 12 my husband went to work the day i gave birth like if we we need to make money right there we go yeah i'm sorry like i love you know i i didn't need all that little oh i mean i'm with

02:00:44 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 4:

my baby she's fine wow that's amazing that's amazing that the mom giving birth did this

02:00:50 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 5:

you know how pissed i would be if i'm just sitting on the couch like that's literally

02:00:54 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 6:

the only thing i'm taking care of your baby and your new your freshie baby if she's helping your baby mama beautiful girlfriend figure out what this is all about because she's going to be a first-time mom she'll probably be asleep i would oh no she will not man i gotta go take a glass

02:01:12 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

uh what's up amanda hi welcome to the show first of all and i am a long time listener first time caller yeah i just wanted to say that my husband wasn't even at the hospital and i was totally fine with it i had my mom because it was during covid and he was working it was tax season and he didn't have a choice oh is he like a cpa or something yeah he's a cpa and he um he had to work like all night and there was a lot of strict covid rules so long story short i was totally fine with it. Someone has to pay the bills.

02:01:49 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 5:

Come on now. There is no job more important than this. I'm not trying to miss the birth. I just don't feel like I need to be at the hospital

02:01:58 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 6:

two days on this. You don't know that you're not going to miss the birth.

02:02:00 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 5:

In this scenario, the baby is supposed to be born on the 22nd. The game is the 24th. Let's live in that world. Plus, let's be honest. It's not U of M. It's Michigan State. Yeah, right. And everybody transferred already.

02:02:16 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to tell that baby girl in her tummy tonight, you need to stay in. You need to come out on the 26th.

02:02:22 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 4:

Megan, listen to this story here. Megan, your baby daddy, what did he do when you gave birth to the baby?

02:02:29 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 3:

He was like, I have to go watch this football game. So I'm like, okay, football. He left the hospital?

02:02:37 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 4:

He left to go watch it. What football game was it? Do you know?

02:02:40 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

It was a football game. He had to coach football.

02:02:43 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 4:

He coached a football game. So like Kevin, who has to leave to go to a football game because he works as the in-stadium announcer for Michigan State, your guy was the coach of a football team. He coached his football team when you gave birth to your baby? Yeah.

02:02:58 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, and honestly, what does a newborn do? It sleeps. It lays there. Thank you. It bonds with the parent. Three hours. It's three hours.

02:03:07 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you know, you must have had a good baby that didn't cry because if you've got a baby that's a crier, You would have been upset

02:03:15 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 6:

Not even that, you're just exhausted And you're a zombie Because you just pushed the baby out of your body Thank you

02:03:23 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe how many people are sticking up For Kevin on this one Our listeners are so smart

02:03:29 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 5:

We're the smartest listeners in all of radio Oh, okay

02:03:32 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 6:

You make it so hard to defend you sometimes

02:03:35 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 4:

Alright, Mojo in the Morning Coming up this hour on the show Am I the A-Hole and War of the Roses, which, by the way, I think we just completed Am I the A-Hole in that last segment, bud.

02:03:49 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:03:51 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 4:

We got a guy on the phone with us right now. Sean is his name. Sean, you want to do Voices, guys, or do you want to do your regular voice?

02:04:03 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 1:

Do regular.

02:04:04 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Sean, we're doing Am I the A-Hole, and you want to tell us about your situation and we'll judge whether or not we think you're an a-hole and maybe listeners can give you some advice too. So what's going on? So you're dating a lady with kids?

02:04:23 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm dating this girl and she has two young kids, a boy and a girl. And they're basically just really annoying. um like i can't stand them i i know that sounds harsh but it's like they do not behave at all and they like ruin and like invade in our private moments so we're like having sex a lot less because of it um what is i'm just like not sure what how long have you been in a relationship with her like about six months wow okay and are they young are they young young

02:05:08 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 3:

kids yeah yeah they're like four and five basically and what's wrong with these kids

02:05:16 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 1:

or are you just the person that doesn't like children i do like kids but they're like you

02:05:23 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 3:

You know when kids are labeled as like menaces, like they're just like, well, do animalistic, like crazy, like attack and like yell and yell at each other and like start crying at random times. Like I, I've worked with kids before and I've never really seen kids that are this, like just, they're not well behaved.

02:05:50 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

And their mom doesn't discipline them or do anything to calm them down or to try to keep them from being screaming and crazy?

02:05:58 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Not in a way. Like, no, because I'm at a point where I'm, like, I have the urge to, like, tell her that they need to behave more because of how intrusive they are.

02:06:13 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 1:

So you haven't already said something to her about that? Like, honestly, I think that, first off, You sound like an a-hole for the way that you've described the whole situation, but I will say this, but I'll say this to you. You have every right in your relationship to not discipline those kids, but to tell the mother of those children who you're dating, hey, I don't know if I want to be around if your kids are doing stuff like this.

02:06:36 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Also, they're little, they're four and five and you, they're, they're a packaged deal with the girl that you're dating.

02:06:44 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 3:

exactly yeah and i'm really like it's sorry go ahead no i'm just saying like foreign every every

02:06:52 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 4:

age is gonna have something you know that i feel like maybe i'm speaking for you that you're gonna find annoying or you know irritating and like i don't know just hearing you talk about them Right off the bat, I wanted to say, well, you're an asshole.

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Unknown:

I don't know.

02:07:12 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 3:

I understand that kids are kids. Kids, yeah. I'm trying to communicate that these kids are not a normal level of annoying.

02:07:26 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's the thing. Okay, so tell us. And let's get that out of you before we start judging you completely because we've already pretty much think that you're an a-hole. But are these kids just not well-behaved? Are they not? And does she not? Because you can discipline a four- and a five-year-old kid. Mom can't. He can't right now. Four- and a five-year-old kids shouldn't be, you know, animals, you know, and shouldn't be, you know, allowed to do whatever they want. Does she ever give them discipline?

02:08:00 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 3:

not not really i mean she she when she's with them sometimes they they chill out and like obviously they have more of a rapport but she doesn't like discipline them in like as it's happening in a way that feels like it's changing their behavior and they're like giving them incentive to change um yeah does she ever leave you alone with these kids sometimes just like little moments where she like you know have to go do something or make a call really quick or

02:08:38 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 1:

there have been so she's allowed you she's left the house and left you alone with these kids

02:08:45 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 3:

just for like brief moments yeah see i would like for extended periods your feelings towards these

02:08:50 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 1:

kids and what you've described so far honestly I think that she should not be leaving you alone with these kids and nor should you even be out of dump that am I the a-hole is the thing so you texted that he was an a-hole right away

02:09:06 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 2:

within the 5 seconds but I do have a question is the dad in the picture for the kids

02:09:12 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 3:

no

02:09:15 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 2:

no I mean I don't know I have a kid myself, and I feel like, I don't know, you've got to have grace with her and also their kids at the end of the day. And if you love her, I mean, you've got to try to make it work with the kids. But if you're already feeling like this, I would just leave the situation so you don't hurt her and the kids anymore.

02:09:41 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Danielle, what's up? Am I the a-hole? What do you think of Sean?

02:09:46 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

So I definitely think it's a good double-double. I think 50% of you isn't an a-hole, but the other half is. I think looking at it in the perspective that you're looking at it makes you an a-hole. I have two kids myself, both very close.

02:10:00 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 6:

and age and i would label them menaces too why because toddlers seem to be that way young kids you know they they're a little crazy unless i were you if you really love this girl if you see a future with her um change your perspective of how you look at the kids because no matter who you're with to say you guys you know god forbid but you ended things or whatever and you got with somebody else who had kids you're gonna you know inevitably look at those kids the same way so if i were you i would try to bond with those kids if you really love her so instead of being like oh my gosh they're so annoying i would be like what can i do to change this situation where maybe me and these little ones can you know look at a different way and you can be like hey look mom really needs a break can you guys go do a puzzle and if you guys see the puzzle right i'll get you mcdonald's but

02:10:54 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 3:

He shouldn't be the person doing that. I hate to say this to you, Danielle. Well, I see what she's saying, though. It's not his job. Let me finish real quick. He is the boyfriend of the mom. He should not be disciplined. He's only been in a relationship for six months with a kid. If you care about your kids, you don't leave your kids alone with a guy who calls these kids intrusive and obnoxious and all the rest of the stuff he said. You don't allow that to happen.

02:11:20 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 6:

You're right, and I fully agree with that.

02:11:23 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 3:

And Danielle...

02:11:24 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 6:

That's why I said he needs to change that perspective. He can't look at them like they're so annoying. He needs to... I mean, eventually, if he plans on being with this woman and marrying her, he has to have some sort of relationship with the kids.

02:11:35 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say this right now. He needs to leave. You need to get out of this relationship. And you need to move on to a situation where you can be a little bit more patient. And first off, she shouldn't have even introduced you to these kids in the six months that you guys have been together.

02:11:50 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 1:

Kids can sense that stuff. The kids can feel it. Even if you don't say it to those kids, they can feel how you're acting towards them. They can sense the situation. You're absolutely right, Mojo. It's going to go bad for the kids.

02:12:02 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 4:

But I also think that it's not this guy's fault. Maybe he doesn't have the right attitude about it, but I don't think he's wrong in his views of kids being annoying. Let's be honest. And I'm not saying all kids are like this. Please, please, please. But I know how I was as a kid. And sometimes when I didn't want something, I intentionally acted out. And these kids might be very uncomfortable with a new person being around and might be intentionally antagonizing him, especially if mom isn't around to try to drive a wedge between them. And I also don't think, yes, I also don't think that it's fair for you to expect any sort of parenting from that person, whether it's positive or negative. I know we're talking about discipline, but even those positive interactions, that is not fair to force on to somebody who is not a parent. And if you're choosing to date a non-parent, then I don't think it's fair for you to force them to step into that parenting role so soon.

02:12:55 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

But you have to be up for it.

02:12:57 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't. I don't think you do. I think you can establish boundaries between my dating life and parenting.

02:13:03 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 2:

If he is going to date and see a relationship in the future with somebody that has kids, he has to be up for stepping up in some sort of way. Not to being dad. I don't think so. And I agree with that.

02:13:13 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 3:

I agree with that, but I agree not at six months. I think six months is way too early.

02:13:18 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 2:

No, I totally agree with that. I'm just saying, you know, if their relationship progresses, he is going to step into a role where he is going to be around these kids. Yeah. But not necessarily.

02:13:30 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 3:

Gabby, what's up?

02:13:31 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 2:

There's no dad in the picture, though. Hi.

02:13:33 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

What do you think?

02:13:34 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 5:

How are you guys today? I think, okay, well, for one, I think that this mom is kind of an a-hole. How can you have your kids around, leaving them around a man that already thinks that they're that inconvenient? I agree with that, too. Not to mention, if you're putting yourself first instead of putting the best interest of your kids first, he obviously doesn't like anything about these kids. These kids are still babies. Four and five are still very little. They're still learning to emotionally regulate. They're not manipulative. They're not thinking. They're not trying to drive a wedge. They're not trying to break up their parents. they're too little to think like that they're not they're not deviant yet at that age like in ways yeah they can be naughty but they're not trying to break up a relationship they're probably sensing the fact that he's frustrated with them and it probably causes them to act out

02:14:26 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 3:

but honestly the person i'm more upset with is the mom i'm upset with i'm upset with the mom for the fact that she's not a disciplining her kids and then b she's leaving a guy that she's only been seeing for six months with this guy you know these kids knowing that this guy obviously has to have some frustration uh being shown about these kids um Jill what's happening

02:14:51 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 5:

good morning there are a lot of layers to this story oh believe me there are yeah yeah there I feel like so many different types of way about

02:15:00 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 1:

it like i can see where both of them are the a-hole but like i can see where he probably feels that way because yes young kids are crazy but like i don't know some kids are like more out of control than others and some kids like i don't know i don't know i can kind of see like i've dated a guy that had a kid that just was like out of control and when he tried to discipline him he just didn't listen and i think six months is so early that yeah to expect him to do any sort of like stepping in as far as that goes and then if he says anything to his girlfriend then oh i don't know there's just a lot to it but i don't really think that he's necessarily the a-hole but i do think that he should step out of the situation because i don't think his attitude towards the kids is going to change and they definitely feel that here's what i think sean

02:15:45 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 4:

i think that you got to let her know your frustration level i think you got to tell her that maybe she needs to you know do a better job of watching these you know kids and keeping control but i think i would pull back buddy because of you especially if you're getting this frustrated this soon yeah you know i don't know it's not good and remember those kids need to come first before you you and your relationship with her come right all right and sean is totally

02:16:12 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 3:

okay if you're not ready to be around kids there's nothing wrong with you you just haven't grown to that level yet but maybe one day you will know that right know that when you're stepping into relationships. Yeah, and remove yourself from the situation until you're ready. Yeah. Alright, Mojo in the Morning, Am I the A-Hole?

02:16:51 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. Congratulations to all of the grads that are out there, the graduates. I saw that Wes's daughter recently just graduated. Going to be going to the next step in life, high school, is that right? High school, yeah.

02:17:21 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 2:

And the school that she went to, congrats, Sam, by the way, the school that she went to, she's been in since it was like all of elementary, all of middle. So this is huge for her because she's going to be going to a new school for the first time in a really long time. So it was really cool to see her graduate and her, the family threw like a little graduation party dinner for her over the weekend, which I got to go to with Wes. And that was really, really sweet to see.

02:17:54 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 4:

Eighth grade graduation was a big deal for me when I was a kid. For some reason, I have no idea why it's not as big a deal for kids nowadays. So it's nice to know that they actually threw a party for her.

02:18:03 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 2:

Threw a party, did all like the photo frames through, you know, all of the years. And it was actually, so it was Wes's ex-wife's family who put on the party. So none of Wes's family per se was there because they're obviously all back in Canada. But I get along with his ex-wife really, really well. I always say I hit the ex-wife jackpot with her because I like her a ton. But it was her family. So it was at one of her family members' homes. And all was like great. I had a great time. except there was one thing that really got me made me feel I don't know if the word is like uncomfortable or awkward but it was when the family started reminiscing and telling stories about when she and Wes were married oh okay and I was like and again this was that no this was at his ex-in-law's home family's home family's home yeah brother's home but I and by the way they are so welcoming they're so kind but then they started telling stories about stuff and i'm like i don't know am i supposed to laugh like what kind of stories explain no just like different things that had happened when they were married like a time when you know wes drank too much or she drank too much and like what they were happening or like family events which obviously i know he had a life before me but it was just one of those moments where i'm like i think that this is something that i'm gonna have to get used to and i had never experienced it really i know that

02:19:35 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

there's got to be some story that made you feel that way because you're just if they're just

02:19:39 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 2:

sitting there talking about oh no but it was no it was reminiscing about when they were you know

02:19:44 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 4:

married were they were they was it like when you guys were drinking and cuddling up to each other

02:19:48 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 3:

and like stuff like that say that no were they interacting with each other yeah stories yeah Was that a piece of it?

02:19:55 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 2:

Maybe. Maybe that made me, yeah. You know what I mean, like they're both remembering the moments? Well, it's. It's like the inside jokes that I don't know, and I'm like, well, I don't know. It was just so interesting to me because I've never really experienced that before. Kev brings up a really good point. It's like something new to me.

02:20:12 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 4:

Kev brings up a really good point. So Wes and his ex-wife were getting into the story reminiscing. So they were kind of like, oh, yeah, I remember that. Oh, my gosh. And you're sitting there as the outsider looking at it going, wow, wait a second. Now I wish I didn't like the exes

02:20:32 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean

02:20:33 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 4:

I wish it was contentious And what's going on here right now That's interesting Okay and now I get it Because before I'm thinking to myself Well yeah obviously they are going to talk Especially when they're recalling Wes's daughter Growing up over the years

02:20:49 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh this was actually about their relationship You know so that's where it's different Like I know that a lot of kids stories are going to come up

02:20:55 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 4:

Like remember the time when you guys Got caught.

02:20:59 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't that.

02:21:01 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

Leaving the party and you guys were doing it in the playscape outside or, you know, stuff.

02:21:07 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

She puts his hand on his shoulder. I do remember. You don't go to a place, you don't go to a playscape for six months because of it.

02:21:15 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 4:

Does Wes's ex-wife have a relationship?

02:21:19 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 2:

She does. So she has a fiance as well who is awesome. Was he there at the same time? And he was there.

02:21:24 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 4:

What did he do when they were doing their reminiscing while they were married?

02:21:28 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 2:

The same that I was doing.

02:21:30 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 3:

You guys probably looked at each other like, awkward.

02:21:32 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 4:

You know what you should have done? You should have then looked at him and said, do you remember the time? Just see what they say to each other. Does that happen, by the way, in any of your relationships? If you're listening to us right now and you come from, you know, you have a relationship with somebody now that was married before. And when you guys get together as spouses, do the spouses or exes ever like sit there

02:21:57 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 2:

and go, you remember when? And you want to know what's so funny is even as the child of parents who got divorced when I was in kindergarten, every once in a very great while, my parents will do that because they were high school sweethearts, right? And so, but they've been divorced for years and years and years. And when they do that as the daughter, I'm like, this is so weird. Yes. It is so weird.

02:22:18 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 4:

And you But it's nice that they actually have nice stories To tell So it's nice that it actually is that way Part of you two over the years Sorry go ahead No but I'm saying but You can see where it would seem awkward To people especially somebody that's in a new relationship

02:22:35 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 2:

Right

02:22:35 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 3:

And I wonder when you were a kid Shannon did you and you heard your parents doing that Did you always think well maybe there's a chance that they get back together Because of stories like that

02:22:43 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 2:

They didn't really do it when I was younger But they're doing it now

02:22:47 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 4:

That's funny Time heals I do like that you like Your Fiance's ex-wife

02:23:00 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 2:

I like her to the point where I would hang out with her

02:23:04 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 4:

Because I'm hoping that one day we can Do who knows Wes best Yeah And we're going to do a couple people We're going to have Shannon Wes's ex Don't even do it Wes's ex And then Wes's ex's family All on the phone line At the same time And by the way

02:23:22 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

She has a great family too This is not a knock Against her family It was just One of those situations Where I'm like I feel so weird Awkward Yeah

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Kelly What's going on?

02:23:33 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 1:

So I'm dating this guy And his family Is still really good friends With like his ex Which is fine Like I'm okay with that Because I was friends With some of my exes Not a big deal well for our niece's birthday party they invited her to the party so she came over and she like sat by us again with just to chat with her i've never really talked to her like face to face like that before and then she started to bring up memories and she started putting her like hand on his shoulder my boyfriend's shoulder and i was like um don't really feel comfortable with that but she brought somebody with her i don't know if it was like a boyfriend or like a friend or whatever but she like kept bringing up all these memories so i'm a straightforward person and i was like do you remember that time where you kept bringing up old memories and you guys weren't even together and she was like oh i can't take no more yeah yeah you have balls kelly it was that shoulder touch i had to because he kept touching my man did he enjoy your jealousy

02:24:38 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 4:

Coming out at that moment

02:24:39 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 1:

I think he did because I never really Show a lot of that I feel really confident in our relationship And I really wasn't threatened He kept brushing it off

02:24:49 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 4:

When you guys left that party You definitely talked to him about that

02:24:53 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh I did And he was like yeah I could kind of get That you were getting frustrated with her So

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 2:

glad you said what you said and i was like well i'm glad that you heard what i said so yeah he

02:25:05 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 5:

definitely loved it too he loved every minute oh yeah guys love it when somebody's being jealous

02:25:09 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

about them what's up tina hey uh so my my husband has two ex-wives and the first ex-wife is actually my best friend and then the second ex-wife is the one who when we go to like family like birthday parties and stuff she will uh i will be telling a story about me and my husband and she will bring in how her and my husband did the same thing and like turn it into her or she'll she's the one that always remembers all of this stuff about him and her and stuff like that but the best thing i did was have my husband literally tell me everything even the things i didn't want to hear just so

02:25:50 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 5:

that when i went nothing was a surprise okay so you knew all the stories i mean come on i bet you

02:25:56 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 2:

left some of those stories out oh no he's uh he's a graphic storyteller so oh wow by the way kevin

02:26:03 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 4:

and i are just looking at each other in the studio so you're so his first ex-wife is or was your best

02:26:09 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 2:

friend let's go back yes he is my best friend still yeah we hang out almost every day wow did

02:26:15 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 5:

did you guys yeah when when did that happen like was there any crossover um so when i first met

02:26:23 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 2:

both of them uh she was kind of friend the first ex-wife was friends with the second but then we started i mean the first one started hanging out more and realizing more things about the second so then we clicked off that and then we just started hanging out every day but the second ex-wife is still our friend it's just not she's a lot you guys should

02:26:47 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 5:

have just been sister wives i know this is wild mojo i need you to pull up the the song 50 cent magic stick because i don't know what this guy's doing but i got the magic no i don't even think

02:26:57 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 3:

it's that because people left i just like that he's good at picking girls like yeah we have five

02:27:02 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 5:

kids oh my gosh this is sister wives yeah do you guys live in the same neighborhood do you guys have like the same house and you guys are in Flagstaff? No, but we all

02:27:12 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 2:

live 10 minutes away from each other.

02:27:14 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 5:

Could you do that, Shannon? Could you live in the same neighborhood as like the exes? Like all the exes live in the same neighborhood or would that be too much?

02:27:25 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 3:

Pros and cons?

02:27:27 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for sure. Pros and

02:27:28 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 5:

cons. You always got somebody to watch your house when you're away.

02:27:32 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, if the kids need something.

02:27:34 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 5:

Right. They can run to each other's homes and stuff. But I don't need to see cars

02:27:38 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

in the driveway. That's exactly right. That's right. I don't need that. There you go. Enjoy the mornings

02:27:44 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 4:

Dirty on the 30.

02:27:46 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 5:

There you go. All right. Deep voice guy was separated there. All right. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:27:50 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I know a lot of people were, I don't know if they were shocked, but surprised when Pat Sajak, the longtime host of Wheel of Fortune, announced he is done. He's going to be stepping away from the show after the end of the upcoming 41st season. And I said this earlier, worth another mention. He's been hosting since Ronald Reagan was president I mean, it's been a long time But he made the announcement yesterday afternoon Essentially just saying the time has come It's been a wonderful ride Many thanks to everybody who has watched for all these years

02:28:23 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm not a young man And I've still been doing it for over half my life I now appreciate more than ever what this show means People identify this show with raising families With watching it with their grandmother People come up to me almost every day and say You know, I just lost my grandmother and that my fondest memory was sitting with her and watching your show or my kids learned the alphabet from your show.

02:28:43 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 4:

That is kind of true, by the way. I used to always I started watching Wheel of Fortune and Murder, She Wrote with my grandma.

02:28:48 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 5:

I hope Ken Jennings gets that position.

02:28:51 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 4:

That would be Ken Jennings.

02:28:53 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:28:54 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 4:

Doesn't he already do Jeopardy?

02:28:55 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

He didn't get the full on Jeopardy position, but maybe he'll get the Wheel of Fortune one or something. They're saying that Vanessa or Vanessa Vanna White is the shoe in for this one. And isn't she also like his age?

02:29:07 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know how much longer she's going to be doing. I know that he, so he's not going to be hosting the show anymore. He is going to continue a partnership with the program as a consultant. So he's going to be involved, you know, in the behind the scenes. Vanna White, 66, by the way. Yeah, so I don't know how much longer she's going to be doing that.

02:29:21 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 5:

They're going to do something. What if it's Nick Cannon?

02:29:23 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 4:

Because he hosts everything.

02:29:27 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 5:

There's got to be somebody else out there.

02:29:29 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

But what are the ratings? Because I feel like.

02:29:31 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 5:

Huge. That show and Jeopardy still are the biggest shows I think the only other show that does better than that Is still Judge Judy's stuff

02:29:40 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't watch Wheel of Fortune I'm not trying to knock it genuinely But for me, I watch Jeopardy on Hulu Is Wheel of Fortune on a streaming platform doing well? Because I feel like Jeopardy rebranded as a young person show again And I don't feel that way about Wheel of Fortune

02:29:55 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, his daughter definitely could be the new Vanna White If not the new Pace Sede.

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Maggie Sajak. I'm looking at her right now.

02:30:02 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, she's beautiful. She has been on the show, too. Yeah, she's filled in before.

02:30:06 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 3:

A social correspondent.

02:30:08 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 1:

Treat Williams, the actor who starred as a New York City neurosurgeon and moved his family to Colorado on the WB series Everwood. I mean, he's done a bunch of shows, but he died yesterday in a motorcycle accident. He was just 71 years old. His agent confirming that news, saying he was making a left. A car caught him off. The family, friends, just devastated.

02:30:31 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 2:

He's the guy that you see in every show, and you don't know his name, but you know him as an actor.

02:30:37 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 1:

You would know him if you saw him. Yeah, 100%. Taylor Swift has reportedly canceled her membership at New York City's very exclusive Casa Cipriani Club after those photos of her on a date with her now ex-boyfriend, Maddie Healy, leaked. I'm told at least three members got kicked out for taking photos of Taylor the day that she and Maddie were there. This club has a very strict no photos policy and they tell members, look, this is zero tolerance. Like we are cracking down. We will bounce you if we find out that you are taking pictures and then sending them to all of the tabloids. And Garth Brooks kicked off his Inside Studio G Instagram yesterday by addressing some backlash to comments he made to Billboard last week about carrying all beers, including Bud Light, at his Nashville beer, Friends in Low Places bar, and Honky Tonk. And he made the comments to Billboard last week explaining that he wants his bar to be the Chick-fil-A of Honky Tonks. He said, we're going to serve every single brand of beer. And the comments were made. We obviously know this story now. Bud Light came under fire earlier this year for partnering with Dylan Mulvaney. But now there's a whole new round of backlash. And this time, Garth Brooks seems to be the target. So he said in an interview with Billboard, he's all about diversity and inclusiveness. And he said, when it comes to being a bar owner, are we going to have the most popular beers here and all of them? Yes. And he said, if you want to come to Friends in Low Places, come in. Come in with love, come in with tolerance, come in with patience, with an open mind. And it's cool. And if you're one of the people who can't do that, I get it. If you are one of the people who want to at least try to do that, though, please come in. Let's have some fun. He said, I don't know how to explain it any better than that. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NudgeInTheMorning.com. Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. This is Mojo in the Morning's Journey on the 30.

02:32:47 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. One thing that we know for certain is that after listening to this morning show and Megan deep diving on the meanie weenie on Facebook.

02:33:04 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 3:

Meenie weenie.

02:33:06 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 2:

That she found out where this woman lives Or not lives Well, actually, maybe she did find out where she lives I did You found out what she does for a living The person was mean Very, very mean Let me just say this to you Was almost unblockable Or was blockable on Facebook But I decided not to block her Because I figured that the rest of the listeners Will, you know, be able to come to the defense of this And maybe we can turn her around But Megan deep-dived her and found out that she is a therapist. So a therapist is the person that is sending mean comments and posting them for all to see up on our Facebook. We talked about that earlier this morning. You've got to go check out the podcast of that. So go check that out. That's available right now. Available if you missed any portion of the show. Also, things from this morning that you can go check the podcast out of. I thought this was actually a good one. The Public Farter. The person who was farting in church, which, by the way, I was so happy that we went through the entire conversation and nobody said something about the fact that they were sitting in a pew. I literally, I was thinking about it. Everybody wanted to. Nobody did it, and I'm proud of everybody.

02:34:17 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 3:

You know what else I've been thinking about?

02:34:19 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:34:19 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 3:

The Ward of Roses, when we're having a discussion, whether you should call it stripper or dancer, I've always wanted to say that we should take a pole.

02:34:28 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, like a stripper pole. You get it? I like that. There you go. You got it.

02:34:33 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the silence, guys.

02:34:34 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 2:

I like it. You know what?

02:34:35 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 1:

Welcome to the silence club. I have this all the time. It's like the group chat.

02:34:40 - 02:34:41 | Unknown:

Like the group chat.

02:34:41 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I was letting air breathe on that one and deciding whether or not I was going to hit a laugh track or crickets. I threw a Wheel of Fortune joke that took a minute to think about, and I was pretty proud of it, and only two people responded. I expected a little more than that.

02:35:00 - 02:35:04 | Speaker 3:

the joke what was your joke yeah in the group chat they didn't even read it no yesterday it

02:35:04 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 2:

was great i thought it was good i know you did oh i didn't read it you respond to everything

02:35:07 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 3:

which i appreciate kev there's a phrase you gotta learn and it's they can't all be gems

02:35:13 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 2:

yeah i think that was pretty good that was not bad right the pole that was good i wanted a joke i'd follow you into the john and watch you take a leak yeah listen um all these and then a couple of other good ones too um mike the mexican soccer coach was funny check that out uh kevin about to make the stupidest mistake of his life choosing to go to a michigan state football game over being with his baby when his baby's born and then we did am i the a-hole was another one of those ones where people were a lot of people commenting on uh sean from am i the a-hole all right uh mojo in the morning show so megan is a like you should be an investigator have you ever thought about

02:35:58 - 02:36:48 | Speaker 3:

getting your private investigator's license here's the thing i think i need government and tried to and so cia if you're hiring i am available i'm also really good at makeup so i could do disguises so i've got so many skills in my back pocket and uh it's the master of disguise and the master of finding out who you are online. And I don't know if this is because I'm so good at it or if people are just so bad at hiding their personal information, but I will find you, and I will find everything about you. And this all stemmed from a conversation I was having with Ellen because she's going out on a date with a guy. And I'm the kind of person where I have Ellen's location 24-7. I need to have it. She's just a girl in a big city, and I've got to make sure she's okay. Does she have yours, too?

02:36:48 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 2:

Like, do you guys share together so that she can?

02:36:50 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I'm just either here or at my house. I don't go anywhere. She doesn't need to check it.

02:36:54 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 2:

Does she ever, wait, does she ever check on you and message you saying, it's time for you to get out of the house?

02:36:59 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. And I go, leave me alone. I'm napping. So I need to know where she is at all times. And she's really good about, usually she'll send me pictures of, like, this is the outfit I'm going to wear. Do I look okay? I'm like, I got it. Where are we planning on going? I'm going to monitor your location. What time do we expect to be gone? Like I'm if there's a murder between her and I, the Netflix documentary is going to be about the other person for sure. We all know where we are at all times. So she tells me about this date that she's going to go on this week. And I'm like, OK, what do we know about him? And she sends me a screen recording of his Hinge profile. And within three minutes, I found this man online. And Hinge doesn't give you much information. They give you a name in a workplace. And I'm like, got it. And this man works for a huge company I know where his hometown is I know where he went to college And let me tell you The icing on the cake The piece de resistance Was me finding His professional photographs Of him bowling in high school No, stop Let me tell you guys You need to hide your embarrassing photos better Because I found them And I know what team you bowled for And I pretty much know what GPA you had When you graduated high school Hide your information better Because I will find it all

02:38:14 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 2:

So do we like him or no?

02:38:15 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 3:

No, I totally gave her the ick before she even went on the date. Really? Did it because of bullying or what? There was a couple of other things that we got into, like certain pages that he liked. I found his Instagram and found a few accounts that he followed that we both were not fans of. So I accidentally ruined the date before.

02:38:35 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Do people go this deep into diving or figuring out what their potential dates are? If their date or their potential Person that they're going to go out with Follows certain I don't know Facebook groups or whatever You actually will not date somebody based on that?

02:38:54 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely, it tells me everything about you If you follow certain influencers Andrew Tate I'm not going to go on a date with you It's not going to happen

02:39:03 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Does that happen the opposite way too? Do guys do that with women?

02:39:08 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 1:

Do they?

02:39:09 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 2:

I've never done that Guys wouldn't care Guys would be like, okay, I really don't care. She got some boobies.

02:39:14 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 1:

She got boobies and she wanted to hang out with me. It would be hilarious if you showed up to the date with like a manila folder with like all of the information printed out.

02:39:23 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes. On the 26th of December in 2017, did you like this photograph?

02:39:30 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 1:

I would pay to see that.

02:39:31 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 3:

The who they're following though on Instagram is such a good telltale of who first. It gives you so much insight. Oh, you can find out their political leanings. You can find out what television shows they're in, too. You can find out their sports teams. You can find out so much about a person. Did you check Venmo? Oh, did I? Yes, I did. And the emojis that he uses when exchanging his money with other people. How do you learn that? How do you find this? Because I'm good. Because I'm good. good. His Venmo emojis?

02:40:02 - 02:40:03 | Speaker 1:

What were the emojis?

02:40:04 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 3:

Don't worry about it, but it was a lot of peach ones and the peach ones made me like are you paying for that? You know, peaches?

02:40:12 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What have you done like a deep dive on or who have you done a deep dive on and then you saw something and you're like, alright, I can't date this person, like a person that you met on whatever dating app. Could you ask the person for their Netflix password to see what shows they watch?

02:40:34 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I would do that.

02:40:35 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 1:

Because you say what they follow, but that would be the key. I would wonder if you go to somebody's house on a date, and they get up and go to the bathroom. Do you start going through all this stuff? I would go through, if they have an Apple, I'd go through their Apple TV and just try to see what stuff they have on their pictures.

02:40:54 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, my Fire Stick is the biggest rat in my life because it tells my brother and my dad everything I've been watching. And some of that stuff is embarrassing. So I would immediately go, oh, he's running to the bathroom, find the remote control, go through the fire stick, see what he's been watching.

02:41:08 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's those are good texters. A couple of texters here right now. 616 says my girlfriend's mom ran a background check on me. Oh, that's a good idea. Chelsea and I should think about that with our, you know, kids dating lives.

02:41:27 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 3:

They're only $38.

02:41:29 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Uh, another one here, uh, seven, three, four says I do the same thing that Megan does. Every time that I'm about to go on a date with somebody, I look through every bit of their social media and then I start deep diving on their family members to find out what their childhood was like.

02:41:48 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, that was the other thing. We did a fun game of, is that your kid or is that a cousin? And it turns out it was a cousin. It wasn't his kid.

02:41:55 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay. uh this is from 248 248 says uh before i started dating a guy i thought that everything was great we went out on a couple dates things were cool and then my family did a deep dive i got a phone call from my mom and my sisters who i said we need to have a family meeting wait till you hear what we found uh god that person needs to come on the air with us like i want to talk to some of these uh these people uh do you do this solely for alan or do you do this for other people because this could be a service because here's a 313 says megan you should open up your own dating uh

02:42:31 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

background check service but this is where i felt bad because she was really excited to go out with this guy especially because he's from this area uh so like i i'm well he's like from warren and stuff and i found out a lot more about his family but then i felt bad because she wanted to have this like connection she knew the area she thought it was going to work out well and then i ruined it

02:42:55 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 1:

for her and now i feel bad can i tell you something i know a girl that will not date people based on where they're from like she will not date states no she will she won't date so it's cal she's chaldean and she won't date east side chaldeans so and i know that this is bad to say this because lydia who answers the phones for us she's an east side chaldean and for those that are in toledo grand rapids or outside of the listening area um chaldeans you know we talk about all the time iraqi catholics and there are some that are from west side some are from the east side and will not date the east side ones because she says the east side ones as she says quote unquote are boaters is she is she is she single is she's not single she's actually dating a guy right now what do you think they're all fun well she said that they're they basically um are very

02:43:49 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 3:

old school in their beliefs yeah it's like my dad like my dad's a boater he wasn't born here

02:43:54 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

came straight off the boat her dad and and her dad is very very traditional in his thinking right he's very traditional and not wanting you to be dating true that's why i hide my boyfriend from him exactly so um you know what why don't you have megan megan go and figure out what gas station

02:44:16 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 3:

guy is all about give me a first name i got it that's all you need probably like honestly i would

02:44:29 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 1:

like you to go through and then i would like you to do the reveal on the air you know for sure this

02:44:35 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 2:

This is better than the P.I. we've used for however many, what was that guy's name?

02:44:39 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 1:

That guy, Dave.

02:44:41 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Dave, Dave, that's right. I will do it.

02:44:44 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 1:

Dave was actually good.

02:44:45 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 3:

Dave was good.

02:44:46 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

But maybe not as good as what Megan does.

02:44:48 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 3:

I will do it if you get the song Inspector Gadget made to say Inspector Megan. Oh my gosh.

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Would you be able to?

02:45:00 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 5:

Would you be able to tell if you found out something really, really bad? Because the stuff that you found out, I don't think is necessarily all that bad. But if you found something out like that was criminal, what would you do?

02:45:10 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 8:

Well, it depends. Was it white collar crime? Because if you can make me more financially stable in the future, let's do it.

02:45:16 - 02:45:22 | Speaker 5:

Joe wants to talk to you, Megan, because he says you're not being fair. Speaks Joe the criminal. What's going on, Joe?

02:45:24 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how you doing?

02:45:25 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 5:

Good. You're on with Megan. What do you want to say?

02:45:27 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 6:

Anybody, in my opinion, they can change, you know. You know, everybody can change, you know. And it's not too late for anybody to change, you know. And the past stays in the past, you know.

02:45:38 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 5:

So says the man that what do you follow?

02:45:42 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 9:

What does your shady past look like?

02:45:45 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what do you got going on there, Joe, that we should know about?

02:45:48 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 9:

All those big booty girls on Instagram?

02:45:50 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 6:

I'm personally engaged, you know, and I'm Chaldean myself, you know. Right. In my opinion, I've seen people change, and I've seen people that can't change.

02:46:00 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely, but I also think sometimes the flags are there, and we shouldn't ignore them. And sometimes people like Andrew Tate is relatively new and problematic.

02:46:12 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 8:

So if you follow him, that's recent behavior. That's not long time ago behavior.

02:46:16 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 2:

I get Andrew Tate, but so Big Booty isn't good to follow them?

02:46:19 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 9:

If you look at somebody's, like, follow list, though, and it's all, like, half naked girls and, like, big booty, you know what I mean? Like, that tells you a lot about that person.

02:46:31 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, of course. You know, it's all, like, a personal preference, you know? Oh, yeah, right.

02:46:36 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 5:

And it's my preference to not get involved. You know what I put out there that you like flat butts. Actually, that's an interesting one. What if you go and you look at somebody, and it shows all their exes, and their exes look nothing like you? And you're not even – doesn't that make you go, oh, God, this is not good?

02:46:53 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 9:

No, because what if all their exes look exactly like you?

02:46:57 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 5:

Well, then if they look exactly like you, then there's probably a little bit of scared. Yeah. It's tight. All right, Joe. Joe, are you single?

02:47:05 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm engaged.

02:47:06 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 5:

Good for you, man. Congratulations. Eastside, Westside, what are you?

02:47:11 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 6:

I'm an Eastsider.
