I'm like your compass.

00:04:20 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

You went out?

00:04:21 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 8:

00:04:22 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

00:04:42 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 8:

My therapist is listening right now I know he's just jotting down notes

00:04:46 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 7:

I get so worried now Tell your therapist name and number out here because we're going to need we're going to have that they'll be packed uh with people after

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

knowing about this it's amazing i know i know i went out last night but then i uh

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

got home and just couldn't fall asleep which i hate that feeling when you get home really late and then you're like oh no there's like five hours of sleep four and a half hours if i go to sleep right now four hours if i go to sleep right now you can't you're tight yeah it's like your eyelids

00:05:14 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

are right there just looking at you um i got a an okay night late sleep last night the night before i got a no night sleep i was like that with uh staying up so late but um and then the weather or two yesterday was weird because we got those crazy storms and the whole day all I kept doing was going to my basement to make sure it wasn't getting flooded because the rain was coming down so hard so fast and it's not that my basement floods but it couldn't help but if you know we haven't had rain like that and it was torrential stuff so did you have hail we had a good bout of hail for a little bit yeah it was pretty it was pretty nuts and then Mike what did you do yesterday what was your what was your day like

00:05:54 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

yesterday I had to uh run a bunch of errands and still trying to figure out the uh like the at home life and we're getting situated like thinking about when ally's gonna go back to work so we're trying to figure all that stuff out and then i i every couple days i'll go to the gym for a couple hours and then i'll go home and give ally a break and she goes and runs and does whatever so we both get like our little time apart for a minute just to kind of mentally reset and so i i went to planet fitness yesterday oh and while i was there this wild this thing happened so while i was there like i said we're searching for babysitters. So I don't know if you guys have ever used the care.com or whatever, but it's like a website. You can find babysitters locally or whatever. So we kind of put it out there. I don't know if we're going to use it, but I kind of put it out there. And these couple of girls were looking over at the machine while I was working out, and then they kept looking at their phone. And usually that means a couple things. They're just waiting for me to get off the machine, but they don't want to be rude. Or sometimes it's, you know, they listen to the show, and they'll come over and they want to say hi, but they're trying to figure out if it's, you know, my stupid face or if it's just some other dude sitting on a machine. And so they finally walk over, and she's like, hey, are you Mike? And I'm like, yeah, yeah, and I'm thinking this is going to go down like we're going to start talking about the radio. And she's like, I applied for a position at Care.com to be your babysitter. Oh, no way. Yeah. What are the odds? Yeah, right, exactly. And it's all, like, from the area. So I guess there's a chance that could happen, but yeah, you're right. What are the odds that that would happen? And she's like, do you mind if I tell you a little bit about myself and we can, you know, so you can get a better idea and maybe that'll help like, you know, she didn't say secure the job, but she's like, maybe, you know, I'll give you a better idea of who I am. And I'm in the middle of the workout and I don't, but I don't want to be rude. So I'm like, sure, I guess so. So I stepped to the side and she starts going into details about who she's babysat and all these different things. And I'm like, okay, okay, like, let's go.

00:07:54 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 3:

And you did an interview for your child care at Planet Fitness.

00:08:00 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Doesn't that say, okay, so maybe as I say it out loud, it doesn't sound as weird as it felt at the time. It felt weird. Like, it felt bold.

00:08:09 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I think she's smart. She took the opportunity to give you her little elevator pitch of why she's right for the job, and she's hoping she'll stand out over everybody else on Care.com. I think she's genius.

00:08:22 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It felt like a bit much to me. It felt like that's what care.com's for.

00:08:28 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

To do it that way and then have them call your house or call your phone or whatever.

00:08:33 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying, if you were applying for a job that you really, really wanted, okay? Like, let's just say this show, okay, for purpose of discussion. Sure. And you were in line at Chipotle and Mojo was right in front of you. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You're telling me. Why could you not have me on a machine at Planetary?

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

No, because I know you love your Chipotle.

00:08:49 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

And we were just talking about Chipotle before the show So it's in my brain So Mojo's in line in front of you at Chipotle You're telling me you're not going to seize that opportunity To make sure he knows and remembers who you are

00:09:00 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I would But knowing Mojo now, I wouldn't Like I wouldn't do it Because I send him ideas all the time And he'll just nod No, come on, you're so full of it

00:09:10 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

No, I'll be honest with you I agree with Shannon Take your opportunity But I also have to tell you That this is a weird situation because if you go home from being at Planet Fitness and you say, hey, Allie, I was at Planet Fitness today and guess what? I found our babysitter. These two girls walked up to me at Planet Fitness and they were in their Lululemons and they looked really nice there. They seemed like nice people. Allie's going to think that you're picking girls up at Planet Fitness just to become your babysitter. Right, exactly.

00:09:45 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

No, but you could go on your care.com account and look through all the candidates and say, this is her. Here she is right here. She was there.

00:09:52 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 2:

She was there. No. Because I went back and – I did go back and look. I have like 10 emails from people who applied for the job. and she is one of them, but it's just weird that somehow she figured out that was me. She must check that every day, so she must be actively looking for a job. Yeah, sounds good to me. By the way, did you tell Allie when you got home that you talked to these girls about possibly babysitting?

00:10:15 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

100%. What was the look on her face?

00:10:17 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 2:

It's exactly what you would expect it to be, a very concerned Puerto Rican. Very, yeah, she was like, no, that ain't that.

00:10:26 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Care.com actually does work. A friend of ours just recently got a situation, daycare situation, and then another friend of ours found somebody to come, and I think there was, I don't know if it's Care.com or one of the other, to come and clean their house or do something in their house. Doesn't Care.com do that too? Can't you find that or no?

00:10:47 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 2:

Is it just child care? Well, it's child care, but part of their thing too is they can say, well, I will also do some cleaning and I'll watch these amount of kids.

00:10:56 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 4:

What's the other app that people use to find people to do things around the house? There was another one, too.

00:11:04 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 2:

Thumbtack?

00:11:05 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. That doesn't sound familiar. But whatever it was, they had really good results with it and found this amazing ... They found this lady that comes to their house every other week, and then every other week, she brings food to their house, which was wild. I'm like, yeah, she cooks for them or something.

00:11:20 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 2:

And we're at that stage where we're going to have the two kids at home, so we're kind I don't want to say we're getting desperate for babysitters, but it's harder to find babysitters now. It's hard to ask her mom to watch two of the kids because she's also watching some other kids. So I don't know. I feel like Care.com might be it, but I don't know.

00:11:39 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 1:

So what are you looking for in a babysitter? I'm sure we've got listeners out there who'd love to babysit your kids. What are you looking for?

00:11:46 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

I've had listeners offer it. I don't know if that's it.

00:11:49 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Do you think that his wife, you have not met Allie. No. Picture your girlfriend, Sherelle, my wife, Chelsea. Picture, you know, Shannon and these guys. Do you think that they're going to open and say, oh, yeah, let's just let a listener come in here and watch our children? I mean, if they're qualified, why not? Okay. We did meet somebody.

00:12:09 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 5:

He's so new.

00:12:12 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 4:

Kevin, I want you to do a – we're going to do a bit. Dinner with Kevin. And I want you to just randomly every night have to have a listener come to your house and have dinner with you guys. we do it now we'll put it over put it there now kevin hasn't met a listener yet that you thought they're gonna murder me one day i hope i never meet that listener uh olivia what's going on

00:12:34 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 5:

it's mojo in the morning good morning yeah i was just listening to you guys um talking about how it's you know so hard to find sitters and things like that um there's so many um like mom groups on facebook that's kind of how i found all the families that i currently work for um there's also

00:12:54 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 3:

urban city coming here from texas really okay so that's a good site to go to what is it that's a

00:13:03 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 5:

good site to go to yeah i mean i found a couple families off of their um care.com actually is not the best um i've heard i've been on it before but um yeah i don't know if that's like the standard you know typical care.com kind of place but um i was just telling her like a lot of facebook mom groups um it's a good place to find sitters let me ask you a question if you were if you went

00:13:31 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 2:

to that facebook mom group and you saw like a family in need and you saw them in public would

00:13:37 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 5:

you come up to them and apply for the job on the spot uh probably not that wouldn't be my uh first intention um I guess I wouldn't like look into it too much um see I don't hold that against

00:13:52 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 4:

her as much as the fact that she did it like just to you at Planet Fitness like if Allie were in public and all you guys were together and you guys were like grocery shopping at Meijer I would go oh okay I just wanted to say how do you guys actually applied for like that would be fine it's just the whole idea again of having to go home and explain to your wife I think I found

00:14:12 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 2:

the perfect girl at Planet Fitness for us you know she was doing squats yeah I wouldn't I would

00:14:18 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 5:

again like you said you found her you know somewhere else to show that she's but yeah I mean me personally I wouldn't walk up to like someone I saw um but maybe I don't know how old she was but you know i'm 27 now so maybe if i was like 17 or 18 still like looking for a job but um yeah and it's definitely like i don't know if you're just looking for like a regular like date night babysitter or you know just casual but i'm pretty regular with all my family are you

00:14:53 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Are you applying for a job right now? It feels like you're applying for the job right now. It's very much like a pinch to me.

00:14:58 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 5:

Maybe if you accept... my hourly rate oh i like it by the way how much should mike have to pay though now for three kids

00:15:05 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 1:

what is what will three kids cost an hour um three kids like i said if it's just a date night um i would still do 25 an hour um if you're looking for like regular kind of person um i would go you know like 26 or 27 wow mike this is one of those situations too where you sit there

00:15:27 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 5:

and you go, okay, at what point, you know, it's like three kids and how expensive it is.

00:15:32 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 4:

Did you guys ever just take out a babysitter because you were so desperate? Like, our neighbor across the street has offered many times. I don't think he really wants to, but I think he's just being nice, but I might just take him up on it. Is this the guy, though, that you have had some feuds with? No, no, no, no. This is the Mike and Mary. But not

00:15:48 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 7:

for your everyday. If you're just going out for a date, yeah, but you don't want to hire a guy where you're like, yeah, I don't know, for your every day.

00:15:57 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 4:

No, it would probably, like, I could only see it happening if I was in an emergency situation. Okay, yeah. I need somebody to watch, you know, the kids right now.

00:16:05 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 5:

I will tell you this, as much as I joke with you about with the Allie thing, I did way back when come home one time and say to Chelsea, yeah, we had this new intern that just started with us today. I think she would have made a great babysitter for us if we're looking for a babysitter. And that didn't go over well with Chelsea at first, but then eventually she became our babysitter, and that was Randy. Randy was the best. Oh, really? Yeah, she actually was amazing, and it's wild coincidentally enough. She actually reached out to me a week ago just to say, hey, we're going to get together. But yeah, so you never know who you're going to bump into. Maybe I should just be more open to it then. Yeah, well, you know what? Sometimes you find them, and the other thing, too, is you're talking about Allie's mom. Maybe Allie's mom can make even more money watching her own grandkids, and I know people feel weird about paying their family, But she's watching her own grandkids Than watching anybody else

00:16:54 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 4:

She's got a lot of grandkids now It's not just our kids

00:16:58 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 5:

So it's the whole slew of people

00:17:00 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

00:17:01 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 5:

The other thing too is Do they still have Craigslist? Can we still go ahead? Back page Do they have anything like that?

00:17:13 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 7:

Please don't

00:17:14 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 5:

00:20:40 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 4:

Kevin Costner is asking a court to get his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, to leave his home. And he's basically saying, look, this is all in our prenup.

00:20:52 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 3:

The Dutton Ranch?

00:20:53 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, not the Dutton Ranch, but okay, we could call it that for purposes of this story. The Oscar-winning actor said that following his soon-to-be ex-wife's May 1st divorce filing, she had a 30-day period to move out of the house that he owns under the terms of their prenup. So he's saying, bye, get out. Costner told the court he believes Christine is simply remaining in the home to persuade him to give into the financial demands that she is making in wake of the split. He said he's already given her about a million and a half bucks under the terms of the prenup. And that's plenty of money for her to go and find a new place. He also says he is the sole owner of the three family homes. And per their prenup, they agreed to when they got married back in 2004, Christine agreed. She signed on the dotted line to leave the homes and take her stuff with her if they ever got divorced.

00:21:47 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 3:

You do not look good when you're kicking your wife of that many years out of the home that they've raised their children in.

00:21:54 - 00:21:57 | Speaker 4:

Prenup or no prenup, I agree with you.

00:21:57 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, I don't know. I think you're going to look bad in this process.

00:22:02 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 4:

Especially when you have three homes. And didn't he cheat? Isn't that the problem?

00:22:07 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 3:

Rumors.

00:22:07 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that's the rumor.

00:22:08 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 3:

He should have just took her to the train station and called her to pay.

00:22:11 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Yellowstone fans get that.

00:22:13 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 3:

Do you watch Yellowstone, Kev? No. Oh, my God. That's your next one.

00:22:17 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not, Kev.

00:22:18 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes, Kev.

00:22:19 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

It's so good. Peaky Blinders is my next one. Peaky Blinders.

00:22:22 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 4:

I could not get into Peaky Blinders. Peaky Blinders is intense. I couldn't understand them.

00:22:25 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:22:26 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

All right. Ryan Seacrest could be the next host of Wheel of Fortune.

00:22:30 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 3:

Stop it.

00:22:31 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 4:

He's reportedly in the running to replace Pat Sajak, who, of course, we announced yesterday going to be leaving Wheel of Fortune at the end of the upcoming 41st season. I'm hearing Seacrest has been talking to producers. Some would say he's the front runner. Others say he's just one of many interested. I'm also, and I joked about this yesterday, but I really truly am hearing Nick Cannon's name being thrown around. And then yesterday, do we have the Whoopi clip? Whoopi Goldberg was throwing her name in the hat for the gig. That would be awful. Whoopi Goldberg. Wait, she wants to.

00:23:01 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 1:

Did Ryan Seacrest just leave live because he was too busy? Yes.

00:23:05 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 3:

You know, that's an interesting question. Hopefully, Wheel's got an envelope somewhere that says what to do when Pat passed it in.

00:23:11 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 1:

Whoopi wants the job. I want that job. Now we figure it out.

00:23:16 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine if you're waiting on your last letter to solve the puzzle and Ryan Seacrest does one of those long pauses? Yeah.

00:23:23 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. By the way, Seacrest, the big thing for him was, and why he left live, was the New York thing. He needed to get back to L.A. He didn't like living in New York. And since he went back, actually, his radio ratings have gone way up. Him being there and doing the show from L.A. I sit there and I wonder sometimes if they just throw these rumors out there. But the big rumor that I'm hearing right now is that whoever comes on board, if it ain't Vanna, she's gone off the show. That they're going to get rid of her and just revamp the whole show. So it's kind of sad to see that the retirement of Pat Sajak could leave that. That would make sense.

00:23:58 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Trans influencer Rose Montoya has now been banned from the White House after she flashed her breasts at President Biden's big pride event that happened on Saturday. Rose was an invited guest for the pride celebration. She shook hands with the president and then later pulled down her dress to expose her boobs with the Truman balcony and a big pride flag in the background. She ended up getting banned. Well, in a statement, a rep for the White House said this behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQ plus families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Rose denying her actions were inappropriate.

00:24:41 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

And because it is perfectly within the law in Washington, D.C., I decided to join them and cover my nipples just to play it safe. because I wanted to be fully free and myself I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or

00:25:00 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 7:

be profane in any way i was simply living in joy living my truth and existing in my body

00:25:07 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 8:

happy pride free the nipple can't go back to the white house and lastly two detroit families say their kids pulled out box cutters from inside their mcdonald's happy meals she opened up the

00:25:22 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 7:

box looking for the toy and he was getting the two-year-old set up and she turned around looked out of it and helped it out and said dad what is this dawn contacted warren police they're now

00:25:33 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 3:

investigating and thankfully her children were not injured yeah it was her seven-year-old daughter

00:25:38 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 8:

who pulled out the bright yellow box cutter from her happy meal another mom said just three weeks ago she was at the drive-thru at a mcdonald's in brighton when her daughter found a similar box cutter in her happy meal they basically just said that it's they have a catch-all box that's a

00:25:56 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 7:

Happy Meal box and someone must have just accidentally grabbed it.

00:26:00 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 6:

I just wanted some type of explanation but there was nothing that he could give me other than he said, do you want a free apple pie or cookie?

00:26:08 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's unbelievable.

00:26:11 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 3:

These moms just want other parents to be aware.

00:26:14 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 8:

Wow. I was going to say McDonald's corporate did release a statement and they said, we've been in touch with the customers involved. We're continuing to investigate what happened there. Later this morning

00:26:22 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell you guys the story that happened way back when Luke was a little baby about that happening to us at another fast food establishment and what ended up transpiring afterwards.

All right. Just so the listeners have a little background here. Natalia always gets in trouble from her mom. Oh, yeah. You sound better. It's good. She gets in trouble because she borrows things from her mom and never returns them. Well, this morning, we're going to have her mom believe that she borrowed the lawnmower. Are you ready? Yes. Here we go. Five lies. Tell your mom. We're going to call your mom up and we're going to say, lie number one, mom, I need your help. Okay. Lie number

00:34:13 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 3:

two. Say, I had a day off today, so I'm home. Lie

00:34:17 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 1:

number three. The dog got out. Okay. Lie number four.

00:34:24 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 3:

What's your dog's name? Major. Major. Okay. Say, I'm chasing Major down Armada Center Road.

00:34:32 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And lie number five. I took your lawnmower, and I'm riding on it right now.

00:34:39 - 00:34:40 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:34:40 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, so you're going to have to really make mom believe that, and we even got a lawnmower here so that you can do it.

00:34:47 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I can do this.

00:34:49 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 1:

All right, hold on a second here. We're going to call up your mom.

00:35:00 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I know. I don't even know how to get him back in. And I'm on your lawnmower. What? Why are you on the lawnmower? I had to chase him. I couldn't think fast enough to get in my car. What? And there's people with their hazards on behind me. I don't know what to do. Well, get off the lawnmower and go back and get the car. Well, he's going to be gone by then. You cannot chase him on a lawnmower, honey. You've got to get him. I'm doing it right now. I don't know what else to do. Should I just try to stop traffic and get off and run after him? No, don't go in the middle of the road. Well, he's in the middle of the road. You'll get killed on that road. I know, but I don't know what to do. I'm starting to freak out. Okay, just pull it together. Go back home. Get the car. And then go look for him. He'll come back. He always comes back. Get out of the road! Oh, my God. People are yelling now. Oh, my God. Get out of the f***ing room! Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out. Somebody's going to hit him. Where is he? Is he by my house or your house? He's by our... He's right on our made-of-center road by, like... F*** are you doing? What? Yeah, he just took off, and I was outside and he's that far I don't know what I'm almost at the intersection on the lawnmower oh my god there are no you think I'm gonna get a ticket for this no you're not gonna get a ticket for that we'll be under your lawnmower anyway who cares who cares about that well there's like 40 police behind me. Please stop.

00:37:26 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

Lorraine? Who's it? It's Mojo in the morning. What? You're on five lies to tell your mom.

00:37:35 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you've got to be f***ing kidding me. Oh, my God. Can you tell your payback? Oh, my God. Payback. It wasn't worth it. You're done. Mom,

00:37:47 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 1:

we just wanted to call and just see how you're doing, and we just wanted to have a little fun for five lies to tell your mom with Natalia.

00:37:53 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You've got to be kidding me.

00:37:57 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 1:

We got a good prize for you for five lies to tell your mom, so congratulations to you.

00:38:02 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. It better be a good one.

00:38:05 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gosh. Is this something common, by the way? Because it seemed like you were fairly calm throughout the whole thing. It wasn't like, what the hell are you doing on my lawnmower?

00:38:17 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

These girls call me with some weird stuff every day of their life.

00:38:20 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 1:

Up until this point, what's the weirdest thing that Natalia called you up with?

00:38:27 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. When she went to college and left her car running the whole time she was in class. You can't find her feet.

00:38:35 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 2:

I can't laugh. I've done that. Yeah.

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:42 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 1:

Sweet.

00:38:43 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:38:45 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. So have you ever in your relationship ever gotten into an argument while you're in the car driving and you're significant or you say, let me out of the car or I'm getting out of the car. I'm walking home. Has that ever happened to any of you guys? Have you guys ever been part of that? No, I've seen it, but never experienced.

00:39:08 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 2:

I've said it. And in my brain, I've really wanted to be the one to just storm out of the car, but I haven't actually done it.

00:39:14 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

But you never did it. I've never followed through. So a friend of mine who begged me to not say who they were, got into an argument with his wife and they were arguing back and forth. And then finally he said, you know what? I'm just walking home. Ended up walking home. Ready for this? Ten miles home. because he got into an argument with his wife.

00:39:48 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 2:

How long did that take him?

00:39:49 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

It seemed like it must have taken him a long time because ready for this? He sent me his steps. This was this past weekend. 20,500.

00:40:00 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 2:

And 34 steps in one hour. I actually sent you guys in our group text so you guys can see. Well, that's just an hour. All you see. But the funniest part of the whole deal is if you look at his steps for like the rest of the entire week, his entire week, every single step was like at 4,000, 5,000, 3,000. And then you see Saturday during that time, 20,534 steps. I wonder at what point do you regret it? Well, that's the thing I asked him. I said, because he, can I tell you the distance and stuff of where he walked from? Yeah. He walked from, I believe it was the Imagine Theater in Novi all the way to where he lives past Brighton. What? Okay. And did not walk side streets, walked the highway.

00:40:56 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you this from experience It's the first probably 15 steps Yeah, you start to regret Yeah, well, because you go I have to commit to this now I can't turn around out of principle

00:41:10 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 3:

You do and you don't, though Because you know what I probably would have done Is walked away And then called an Uber And had the Uber drop me off Somewhere in the proximity of my home I would have gotten some food Because the timing has to be right and then I would have gone home.

00:41:26 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 2:

Here's the problem, though. He didn't have his phone with him because he left his phone. Oh, no. So he walked without his phone. Honestly, I wouldn't know how to walk home. At that point, I would have to take the highway in that case because I wouldn't know the side roads. Like, you know, I know how to get from, you know, my house to wherever or some places to my house. But if I have to do, like, side roads and stuff, sometimes I don't necessarily know if they're not major roads. So this has happened to Chelsea and I in our relationship once, and it's one of the worst things that has ever happened in our relationship. And it was way back when we were actually not even married. We were engaged at the time, and it was Chelsea who got out of the car. And I will never, ever forget this for a couple of reasons. One, because it was one of the scariest moments of my life. Two, because of somebody that was involved in this whole thing. So years ago, we were arguing, and she got out of the car to walk home from probably one of the worst parts of Tucson, Arizona, where we lived. Because that's where Chelsea is from, and that's where Chelsea and I lived. And I thought the entire time as I pulled away, because I pulled away because I wanted to go, oh, I'm going to prove a point. I pulled away, and I go, oh, this is not good. This is not a great place. So I turn around. I couldn't find her. I thought she got kidnapped I went back there was a circle K where She got let off I went back to the circle K I walk inside I'm like hey did you see like a blonde Girl you know pretty right I don't know what you're talking about the guy Had like three teeth And then I went pulled up A road a little bit there was a McDonald's there I pull up to the McDonald's and I'm like Hey did you see and they're like I have no idea What's going on like nobody knew what was going on And I'm freaking out at the time only to find out that she didn't walk home. She called my future father-in-law to come pick her up.

00:43:27 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

That's worse. Yeah, it is.

00:43:29 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 2:

So that was the worst situation that you could possibly ever get into. I would have almost rather her get kidnapped at that moment. Or me get kidnapped. Because of the forever having to talk to Chelsea's dad, Joe, about the fact.

00:43:44 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 1:

Does he still bring it up, too?

00:43:46 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

You know what? He has not brought it up in a while, but he does listen to our show from time to time or at least check out podcasts. And my prayers are that this is one of our least listened to podcasts of the day, especially coming from Arizona. But it is, it's an interesting thing. It's a scary thought. And I will say this to you about the whole, I'm going to walk home thing, or I'm getting out of the car. You really do have to be committed to it, but you also have to understand something as the person who is the driver in the car or the person that stays in the car, it's on you if that person is not safe. Even though they got out of the car, it's on you because you'll forever, your conscience will be guilty or feel guilty if something happens. Yeah, it's the worst. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. It's kind of a little crazy when that happens. yeah i mean i have to be perfectly honest with you if you you know if you do this you you really gotta be careful like it's it's nuts and the whole idea that you have to walk all the way home or you might be stuck there for a little bit and thank god that we do have like places are

00:45:00 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 4:

things like lyft and ubers that you could call yeah but still it ain't the same i mean even just getting picked up on the side of wherever the road is right and when has that ever worked when has

00:45:10 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 3:

somebody gotten out of the car and walked and then they went you know what this really solved this situation i'm glad that you got out and walked and we handled it like adults yeah is that or is

00:45:20 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 1:

it avoiding meeting up with people in public when you're fighting and you just you can't fake it for

00:45:25 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 4:

the night well i think that what ends up mike to go back to mike's thing it works if you're the person like chelsea who had your father pick you up oh yeah yeah that's true that's true because

00:45:37 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 5:

i learned my lesson about arguing in a car i just imagine i get home out of breath and piss

00:45:42 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 4:

oh my god i just actually did because we're not that far from where my friend started walking from to go to his house i just put his address in my phone from here all the way to there and it was 11 miles it says 11 miles and it says to right now if i got in my car to go do it just driving alone it would take me more than 30 minutes to get there imagine you had to walk what's up hannah how you doing i'm good how are you guys good what's happening we're talking about i'm getting

00:46:16 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 8:

out to walk i'm now pregnant with my third and i was telling my husband i'm like oh my god i had such an easy pregnancy last time like I was so nice to you he's like what do you mean nice he's like do you remember when he got out of the car he's like and you walked home for three miles he's like and you were eight months pregnant and I'm like oh yeah I do remember that when I got out of the car and I walked home and I was regretting it like every step of the way but I was like too prideful to get back in the car and he followed me home oh geez a pregnant

00:46:46 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 4:

woman that's the worst too for him because you being pregnant now he's got double the guilt of you guys having to walk so he's following you the entire time does he have his hazard light flashers on so that people can pass

00:47:02 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 8:

he's like get in the car I'm like don't talk to me

00:47:05 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 4:

and the people that drive by well the people that drive by think that he's either somebody trying to traffic you or they think that he's the a-hole husband that's inside of that car.

00:47:17 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 7:

Yep. It was good.

00:47:19 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. Luke, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:47:23 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

00:47:23 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 4:

Doing okay, Luke. Did you do the whole I'm getting out of the car?

00:47:27 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 2:

Yes. My parents stopped at the gas station for ice, and my parents were in an argument, and I got out of the car and started walking on the block, and then they started following me around, so I wouldn't walk home.

00:47:41 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. So that, by the way When kids say I'm getting out of the car I don't care as much

00:47:46 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what the story is I'd like to see you walk

00:47:49 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my kids need exercise

00:47:51 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 5:

I've certainly been put out of cars That's for sure Really? Somebody kicked you out? My mom, I don't know I don't remember the situation I remember she dropped me off at a police station one time She dropped me off at a fire station one time And just left

00:48:04 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 4:

What's up Marybeth?

00:48:06 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 7:

Hi

00:48:06 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey

00:48:07 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 7:

My mom did this to my dad My brother and I were probably like 8 and 10, and we were going up north. And this was before seatbelts were mandatory, and my mom refused to put on her seatbelt. And so for like about four blocks until we got to the main road, they were arguing back and forth. And my dad demanded that if they were going to continue driving, she had to put on her seatbelt. And she said, well, then I guess I'm not going. And as soon as he pulled to the stop sign, she got out and walked four blocks home. And my brother and I were just stunned. I was like, this is all over a seatbelt. Yeah. But you'll remember it forever

00:48:42 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 4:

That great vacation that we went on

00:48:45 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 7:

It took us about an hour To convince her to get back in the car

00:48:49 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god Is she Italian? Because my wife's Italian

00:48:53 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 7:

She is not Italian They say I get my stubbornness from her

00:48:57 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay, alright What's up Jennifer, how you doing?

00:49:01 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 6:

I'm good, how are you guys?

00:49:03 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 4:

Good, Jennifer I just got a text from my friend I put it in quotes that would not let me say it was them or go on the air with me, it took them three and a half hours to get home. Holy cow. Three and a half hours. Serves them right.

00:49:19 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 5:

I got to know what the argument was about now.

00:49:22 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 4:

Jennifer, what happened in yours?

00:49:25 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 6:

Me and my boyfriend were on our way out of town about three hours out of Toledo. I forget where we were going, but the phone number kept calling and calling and calling. And I'm like, why do you keep declining it? Answer it. And so he finally answered it. And that's how I found out he was cheating.

00:49:41 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

00:49:41 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 6:

And I called my sister and in Toledo. And when we got to where we were going, she was already on our way. I took off from where we were at. I hid by a school and it's raining. And my sister and her boyfriend drove like three hours away to come pick me up.

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:50:00 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 3:

So, man, did he contact you later that night to apologize, or did he wait a, like, 24-hour period?

00:50:07 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, no. I've seen him driving around and stuff, so I'm, like, trying to duck even further into the car. He called me and emailed me, texted me.

00:50:16 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 3:

You want him to make you think that the worst of the worst happened to you, right?

00:50:20 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, most definitely, because you just did the worst of the worst. Absolutely.

00:50:25 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. Imagine this. Imagine you get out of the car On a road trip to Florida Kevin

00:50:34 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 2:

Who did this? My buddy was arguing with his mom On our way down We were probably 14 years old Maybe we were going to Florida for spring break And she said I'll pull this car over right now You can walk back She says have your dad pick you up And she pulled over to the side of the road and kicked him out of the car, and I said, Miss Melody, I don't want to be disrespectful, but I'm going to get out of the car with him because I don't want him to just be out here alone. She kicked back in the car. It was so funny. Every now and then I see her, she breaks it up. Do you know what I mean? You wanted to get out of the car with Dario?

00:51:17 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

Where were you guys? What state were you in at the time?

00:51:19 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 2:

We were in, like, Georgia at the time. Oh, my God. She was real mad.

00:51:24 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, because at that point in the trip, you drove for so long, so everybody's on edge anyway. So you're just like, get out. I don't even care. Oh, my God. What a good friend, by the way.

00:51:36 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 2:

I was wrong with the ride, but my friends were like, I don't know. I didn't want to leave him there because she was serious. She was legitimately going to leave him there.

00:51:43 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 1:

This guy has Anderson Cooper's laugh. Did you hear that? He does. Do you? He kind of is.

00:51:49 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Good morning, Shannon. What you got in this hour is dirty.

00:51:58 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, former President Donald Trump entering a plea of not guilty yesterday in a hearing that lasted just under an hour in Miami. His not guilty plea to 37 felony charges was entered on behalf of his, or entered on behalf by his lawyer. Yes, there we go. After the arraignment, Trump went to this restaurant called Versailles in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood where he bought food for everybody who was hanging out. The crowd even sang happy birthday to him. He turned 77 today. Oh, no, can you play happy birthday, Trump, please?

00:52:32 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is, I think, the happy birthday. Is this the one that you, did you put one in? Okay, hold on a second, hold on. Is it?

00:52:39 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 4:

Look at the outside.

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 3:

This one. Oh, here we go, happy.

00:52:46 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Look at the outside.

00:52:47 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Last night, by the way, he flew to New Jersey to address supporters at his golf club in Bedminster, and he denied all of the charges. He said it was a sham indictment, and he said it comes as a result of corruption from the Biden administration. and chalked up the whole thing to election interference.

00:53:20 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 5:

It is the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country. Very sad thing to watch. A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty right in the middle of a presidential election in which he is losing very badly.

00:53:42 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 3:

By the way, whenever I hear a clip of the President Trump, I go, God, Eric's imitation is really good. Oh, it's so spot on. It's unbelievable.

00:53:52 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, Mark Stone scored a hat trick, and the Las Vegas Golden Knights captured the organization's very first Stanley Cup with a 9-3 win over the Florida Panthers last night. Vegas closing out the series in five games. Lap dances for life.

00:54:08 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. How is it that these guys have won more Stanley Cups in the last decade than the Red Wings? Stop it. Huh? How dare you? And it was like the whole Red Wings franchise that went out there and started that team, too.

00:54:28 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 1:

Was it clever editing? Or is it, as my six-year-old son says, is it real life? The teaser for The Kardashians Season 3, Episode 4, is making for lots of buzz this morning. Could Kendall Jenner be pregnant? Her boyfriend, Bad Bunny, responding to those rumors. By the way, in the trailer, a producer asking Kendall, how's the pregnancy going? And she's just very coy with how she responds. And obviously it cuts before she could provide an answer. But Bad Bunny writes, it makes me sad and it's pitiful at the same time, not for me. But more for the people who spread gossip because it's funny to see how they talk with such confidence. You get used to it with time when one is exposed to fame and to this environment. Well, now anyone can say whatever they want about you. But the antidote is to be secure about who you are and enjoy life. Because at the end of the day, I am the only one who knows and the only one clear about what I feel.

00:55:20 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

So he didn't really get an answer either. Why is he so upset about the fact that people are thinking that they're pregnant?

00:55:25 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 1:

I think it's more so just like Somebody takes a rumor and runs with it And all of a sudden it's everywhere

00:55:30 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 2:

Bad bonnie I don't know Listen, if I'm dating A beautiful woman like that And people are speculating That we're pregnant I'd be like, we'll wait and see Or one of those type of things Instead of getting so angry about the whole deal His reaction to anger probably means that it's true He didn't want people to find out like that Or maybe their relationship's on the rocks or something, too. Yeah, it could be that.

00:55:57 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, there is a TikTok that has gone viral of employees inside of a Starbucks taking down all of the pride decorations they had up, the flags, the cute window clings. We're halfway through pride months. This is the case, apparently, at a lot of Starbucks locations. The company's workers' union claimed yesterday, and if true, it would be a stunning cave to what Starbucks stands for. For the record, Starbucks denies that any such policy of taking down Pride stuff is in place. However, for the last two weeks, Starbucks workers have taken to social media to report that the company is no longer allowing Pride decorations in store. That is what the Starbucks Workers Union tweeted. Starbucks has always adopted a very pro-LGBTQ-plus stance, at least in public. I don't know if you noticed, but this year they even released a series of special Pride-themed tumblers. But according to the union, workers in stores in at least 21 states We're told that all Pride decks must come down. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the Dirty on the Morning.com.

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Our text is 95500. If you do text in, understand that we love to actually talk to you. we're not uh big on reading text messages and just going through them a lot of times we do if we can't get a hold of you i always listen to like some radio shows and they'll just sit there and read text messages all day and i feel like that's a podcast you know what i mean like i want so interaction i want to be able to talk to you guys so uh if you get a call from a number and you say oh my god it either says i heart radio or it's unidentified that could be one of our people here that's calling you up to say, hey, Mojo and Shannon and Megan and Mike and Kevin, everybody wants to talk to you on the radio. Shannon, the make-out spot. Oh, did this bring back the memories.

00:57:59 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 1:

So Wes lives. Maybe for you. Well, maybe for all of us.

00:58:04 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 2:

My make-out spot was me kissing my own hand in my bedroom as a child.

00:58:09 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm sorry. This brings back painful PTSD for you. But Wes lives right by this huge park in Rochester called Bloomer Park. I'm sure a lot of you listening are familiar with Bloomer. It's huge. And so we constantly are going for walks there because it's beautiful, and I love going there. So the night before last, we decided we're going to take a really long walk just to get some exercise. We had a ton of stuff to talk about. So a couple of miles in because when you're with Wes, you don't just take a quick walk, okay? the guy he's like yeah we're gonna go on a short walk seven miles later i'm like this is not a short walk okay but about three miles in we come to this beautiful little clearing and there's a pond and there's like a sandy area and there are birds chirping and it was just stunning so i of course you know i pull up my phone i take a picture all of a sudden we turn our heads to the left and we see these two high school kids like in this little field just going at it not having not baking cookies, but making out like mad. Now, again, we're in the middle of like a forest inside Bloomer Park. OK, there is nobody else around. And we found these high school kids little make out spot. And it made me laugh because I feel like when you're that age and you don't want to be making out in front of your parents, you have you have your spot right that you can escape and go to and nobody's gonna bust you when i was in high school my boyfriend's family had a trampoline way in the back of their backyard and it kind of had one of those like netting things on it so if you were laying on the trampoline nobody could see you yeah and that was our makeup that we would go to if his parents were home and we wanted to make out and not have anybody see what we were doing my teenage sons they're making

01:00:00 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 5:

spot was uh marsh bank park which was not that far that was the spot that was the spot and the only reason i knew it was the little league t-ball teams played there and i remember uh one of the moms saying i saw joe up here see that's why you had to get like a secluded spot like for me it was

01:00:19 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 6:

smyrna dam which if you're from west michigan or even from belting you know where that is it's like a off the road off the beaten path nobody really goes there uh you could do like fishing and stuff there but other than that nobody goes there that's the spot and would you pull up your car and just make out in your car or what yeah yeah or you could sit by the water while it babbled the babbling

01:00:36 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 2:

brook the babbling that's what this was the babbling brook and they were just on the ground

01:00:40 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 5:

just rolling around man i i will say this though they wherever these make out spots are you got to make sure you don't do it during the height of mosquito season because all i'm thinking about

01:00:51 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 2:

is those kids in bloomer park getting eaten alive they don't care they do not although i think

01:00:58 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 5:

nowadays these kids by the way this is this is just me this is me being the get off my lawn i think nowadays these kids aren't making out i think they're going up there and they're doing other things too like hand stuff oh no i think they're past the hand stuff i think they've i

01:01:12 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 1:

think they've gone to other things yeah you brought back so many memories with this i was like i didn't have one and now i'm thinking oh yes i i had two of them oh do tell um the first one was Olander Park. And if you go to Olander, you know, there's like three swing set, like jungle gym areas. And it was one in the back because there were a lot of trees back there and it was shadier back there because you're up to shady stuff, if you know what I mean. And then the other one was at the Centennial Cori, but it was up where the water slide like launching ramp was where the volleyball courts were up there because none of the adults would go to the water slide, so it was just a bunch of teens making out up there. Oh, really? To the bunch of eyes. So kiss me.

01:02:01 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 5:

Aaron, where was your make-out spot?

01:02:05 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 3:

So, my first real high school girlfriend, you know, our parents were still super strict, so we lied, said we were going to school early to study, and we would just pull around the block and go into the cemetery. Oh!

01:02:19 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 5:

Cemetery's always a good place, And it's funny because... No. I mean... No, there was a cemetery. There was a... We had like a Revolutionary War cemetery that was by us where they didn't even use it anymore. It was just basically for show. And, you know, they had all the people from the Revolutionary War.

01:02:35 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 2:

That's not for show. There's people... There's dead people there.

01:02:37 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 5:

But no, but they didn't... No, they didn't put new people there.

01:02:41 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but there's still skeletons under your feet. Occasionally mourners would be around. Wait.

01:02:46 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 5:

So you would be like making out while there was a family there mourning the death of their loved one?

01:02:52 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, it was in the winter, so that was rare. And it was just one time we looked up, and there's, like, a family placing flowers. And that was kind of the, you know, the buzzkill for the rest of the night.

01:03:02 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 5:

It wasn't the bodies. It was the flowers. Wait, you never took those flowers and then gave them to the girl afterwards, did you? You rotten bastard. Yeah.

01:03:12 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 6:

I don't know how you make out with somebody while you're holding your breath at a cemetery.

01:03:16 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, Mike. I still do that. Why?

01:03:20 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 6:

When you drive by it?

01:03:21 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:03:23 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning. What's up, Helena? How you doing?

01:03:26 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Mine was always Suburban Ice.

01:03:30 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 5:

Suburban Ice? Where's that? That's the ice arena there over in, where's that? Is that?

01:03:35 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 2:

Macomb. Macomb. Oh, okay.

01:03:37 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I thought it was downriver, but it's east side of town?

01:03:40 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:03:41 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

01:03:42 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

So where'd you go, the parking lot or somewhere inside? Yep.

01:03:45 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 1:

The parking lot, usually in the back where there were no cars. and no lights.

01:03:51 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 5:

Because I was going to say, the best place to kiss in the ice arena is somewhere where everybody's cold and you have to keep somebody warm, right? Yeah.

01:03:59 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but then there's people around. See, there's

01:04:01 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 5:

parents around. Well, look at you guys. You and Wes. I mean,

01:04:06 - 01:04:13 | Speaker 2:

staring at the kids. I don't think there was anybody. No, we just walked away. Let them do their thing. Did the kids,

01:04:13 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 5:

by the way, go, hey, old people,

01:04:16 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

keep walking. I honest to God, don't think

01:04:17 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 5:

they know this stuff. Really? Yeah. They were so into it, huh? Kiss. Yeah.

01:04:23 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 1:

Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh park in there and park in a storage unit and make out.

01:04:56 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

No! Oh, that's smart! No!

01:05:00 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 4:

That's smart.

01:05:01 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys do more than that since you had your own little private room?

01:05:06 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 3:

We did.

01:05:07 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Did the first time I get awkward, like, hey, you're taking me to a storage unit?

01:05:12 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to kill me and kill my body here? Right.

01:05:14 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 2:

Why is it that in movies that's always the place where the criminal is hiding is in the storage unit?

01:05:21 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 4:

I always watch a lot of scary movies, so you'd think I would know better, but here we are.

01:05:26 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 2:

And I guess you want to know if I'm going to be around. I ain't sure, but I'll tell you what I do know If you kiss me, then I'll kiss you back Mojo in the morning, Tim.

01:05:41 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:05:42 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 2:

Where's your make-out spot?

01:05:46 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 5:

So I went to Warren Mott High School, and in the auxiliary gym, there was an attic that folded down, and a ladder came down. And everybody in the school kind of knew about it, so there's, like, blankets up there and stuff like that. So, at lunch, we'd go up there and just, you know, get to it.

01:06:00 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So, the attic of the Warren Mott High School gym. The Ox Gym. The Ox Gym.

01:06:07 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:06:08 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Good place.

01:06:09 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 5:

And, I mean, a lot of people knew about it. A couple of girls got pregnant up there, but, you know.

01:06:13 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

01:06:26 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 1:

And now that your rose is in blue, I like it's the blue.

01:06:32 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Dirty Dina is on with us right now. Hi, Dirty Dina.

01:06:38 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, hello. I called in to say my spot back in the day, and I'm still with my man. It was a church parking lot.

01:06:48 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Yes, ma'am. Which one? Call it out.

01:06:53 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 4:

Warndale, part of Detroit. St. Thomas Aquinas Oh no!

01:06:58 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god So you were making out When we do our contest That we do called Six on Sex We'll ask the question of Hey where's the craziest place you did it You would not believe how many times we get calls from people That say that they've done it in a church

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 3:

So mean, I was going to say Megan

01:07:15 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I know, I've been listening Since day one So I've heard those

01:07:22 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Just so you know So you'll be joined in hell by Megan, who's also done the same thing.

01:07:28 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 3:

We're going to have a party.

01:07:36 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Kiss me once.

01:07:39 - 01:07:46 | Unknown:

Kiss me twice. Come on, baby, kiss me twice.

01:07:46 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I should have played that one for the funeral ceremony. Greg, are you there?

01:07:51 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm here.

01:07:52 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, where was your make-out spot?

01:07:55 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 1:

It was the Detroit Terminal parking lot. I would pick up family members from Arizona. We'd make it out and more.

01:08:04 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and more. Was it family members? Yeah.

01:08:07 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Short-term parking. Short-term parking.

01:08:13 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait, that's an expensive kiss.

01:08:15 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 1:

You know, back in the day, I'm old now, but back in the day, it was like $5.

01:08:19 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Really? Okay. Okay, so the short-term parking at the airport was the great place to go to. Kara, where was your make-out spot?

01:08:30 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 4:

Mine was in the back parking lot of a public library.

01:08:33 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, because nobody's ever, like, filling up the parking lot that much where they're going to the back parking lot, right?

01:08:39 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 4:

Right, and then there was a strip of wood, and on the other side of the woods was my neighborhood. So all the neighborhood kids would pop through the woods, go to the back parking lot, and there you go. Wow.

01:08:48 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, wow. So do you ever now as a grown adult ever, like, think to yourself, oh, my God, that's where we did it. And would you ever bring, like, your current relationship with you to go do it and test it out again?

01:09:00 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Probably, yeah, just for the fun of it.

01:09:02 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Shannon, you said there was the woods there by your parents' house? You should actually do that. You should go take Wes and try it.

01:09:10 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 3:

To my ex-boyfriend's house. Yeah. I remember his trampoline. Yeah, you show him. That would be super weird. You show him what's up. Could you imagine? They have since moved, by the way, and I'm guessing they don't have the trampoline anymore.

01:09:22 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

What do you think? Wait. What would you think that they would do if all of a sudden they're like, hey, is that that Murphy girl out there right now? Well, I talk to them all the time.

01:09:32 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? They'd be excited.

01:09:33 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

She's banging out with some guy that looks like a model. What's happening right there? All right. Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Online, mojointhemorning.com. Text 95500, social media, search Mojo in the morning. It's pretty easy. Kev, you say that recently on social media.

01:10:00 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 5:

you've been getting some people, which by the way, Kev knows, right? Is that it? Follow Kev, the new guy on the show. Recently, you've noticed something very interesting on your social media that kind of made you go, hey, how did this happen?

01:10:14 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 4:

Man, so yeah, so Kev knows, especially, I'm most active on Instagram. That's my platform of choice. And if you're an Instagram user and you view people's stories all the time like I do, then you notice there's a difference. There's the profile picture that has like the purple pinkish circle around it That's what's considered I'm assuming a normal story And then you have the green circle And that my friends is for your close friends And I have no idea why I'm in so many people's close friends That I don't even talk to in real life They trust you Okay so maybe I'm the best secret keeper We'll save that for later But I have no idea why I'm in a close friends And you have to like personally select these people How do you do that though?

01:10:56 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 3:

Because I've never done a story with just a close friends list.

01:10:59 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 2:

There's a little star that you click, and then you can add profiles to your close friends list.

01:11:03 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so that was my question. So people are actually actively adding you, at Kevknows, to their close friends list.

01:11:10 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 4:

You have to make the decision that, I guess, Kev is cool enough, or whatever it is that I'm posting. I want Kev to be in my secret little group. That's flattering. How flattering is that?

01:11:19 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 5:

So people are doing that. But why? We're not friends. But you're... Now I'm going to unfollow you for that reason. So you don't know this person at all?

01:11:28 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 6:

I don't know these people. Yeah, but that's how I get to know people so much better. Like, there's this guy, Jacob, who I absolutely love and adore. And we hadn't met in real life for like three years until we finally met. And because I was on his close friends list, I felt like we were best friends before we ever even met in person. Like, I got to see intimate details of his life that he wasn't willing to share with a lot of other people. It felt special. I loved it.

01:11:51 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 4:

That's not weird, though, that this guy doesn't know you?

01:11:54 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:11:55 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 5:

KP, show me where I can do this. Where do I go?

01:11:57 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, one second.

01:11:58 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 5:

So, okay. So, are you, I'm sorry, you're videotaping. If you're videotaping, I'll come over towards you. But we're, I want to know how I can become Kev's close friend.

01:12:08 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 3:

You cannot apply to be a close friend. Right. He has to do it on his end.

01:12:12 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wait. So, Kev does it on his end? Yes. So, I select.

01:12:15 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 4:

I have to say that I want you to be my close friend.

01:12:18 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, then you're the one making the mistake. Why are you saying this?

01:12:20 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 4:

I don't have any close friends. I don't even do that.

01:12:22 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so how do I make people on mine close friends of mine? I go on there Oh here you go Close friends Oh my close friends Oh I haven't even I haven't chosen anybody Exactly I'm gonna choose people My wife Chelsea's my close friend My sister Tracy My son Joe

01:12:37 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 3:

We're all just staring at you Shannon We're all just like What about Lydia

01:12:42 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Megan Tony Strife Life with Strife I don't hear my name All that Everybody but Kev I'm making everybody but Kev Mike you just became my close friend Megan you just became my close friend Jacob, you just became my close friend. That's my son, by the way. I should make him my close friend. I'm making all... Deny. Wait, can you deny somebody a close friend?

01:13:02 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 3:

No, because you're the one inviting them, right?

01:13:05 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 5:

Ashley Nix is a close friend. KP, Kristen Penrose, close friend.

01:13:10 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 2:

I have to take you guys on and off my close friends list sometimes. Wait, hold on. Look at this. Why? Because sometimes I post stuff, I'm like, this is only for maybe a couple people. No, I have it too.

01:13:22 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 3:

See, there we go. So if that's the thought process... Why don't you just text those people instead of creating a close friends list? I don't know. It's more fun.

01:13:29 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 6:

My close friends list is literally like 15 people, though.

01:13:32 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:13:33 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 5:

And do you know all of these people?

01:13:36 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:13:37 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 5:

Any of us on your close friends list?

01:13:40 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes.

01:13:41 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm unfollowing you as my close friend. Is that when a story of yours is green? Yes.

01:13:46 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

01:13:47 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so here's-

01:13:48 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 2:

How would you not know this, Mike? You're normally hip.

01:13:51 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 5:

I don't pay attention to close friends list on Instagram The man has three children at home that he's taking care of He does 8,000 radio shows in West Michigan Did you know that this man is on, what is it, Doug FM? What is the name of the station? Big 101.3 Big 101.3 Wait, you know

01:14:11 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 6:

I just checked my close friends list Mike is not on it, but his wife Ali is

01:14:19 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 5:

That sounds like the story of Mike's life right there, right, Mike? 100%. Sorry, Mike. Aaron, what's going on?

01:14:28 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Hey, you guys are using your close friends wrong. That's just how you separate out the stories that you want everybody to see versus the ones that would get you fired if your boss or co-workers died. Correct.

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 6:

That's exhausting. That's why the list fluctuates.

01:14:41 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 5:

So that's why people...

01:14:43 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 6:

The green circle's a little spicier.

01:14:45 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 5:

What do you think, though, about Kev, the new guy, though getting a little uh i don't know uh i don't know testy about the fact that people think of him as a close friend i think it's flattering i think they are just kind of using

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

it as as an outlet you know because

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

He's like a non-invested party, so they can just show him their weird stuff. Yeah. I like that. I like that.

01:15:08 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 1:

Alyssa, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:15:12 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

01:15:13 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Alyssa.

01:15:14 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was just going to say that what I do as close friends is you can select all of your followers, and then I'll just go through and just take out the people I don't want to see specific things. Okay. So, if I'm posting, like, something of, like, me drinking or, like, partying, I'll, like, take my parents out or, like, close family out so they don't see that kind of thing.

01:15:36 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 1:

Could you do us a favor quickly? Could you make every one of us one of your close friends? Yeah. But, Kevin, Megan. Those are the only two. For some reason, we're going to single those two guys out today.

01:15:50 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 2:

Because they won't add up. It's close friends.

01:15:52 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. For the longest time.

01:15:54 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes I do stuff on there that I'm like, well, that would get me in trouble. Or who's going to bring this up on the year if they see it and I want it to be brought up. That is a big one, Meg.

01:16:04 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 2:

That's where I fully don't understand this. What is the point of posting it then? Why not just not post it?

01:16:08 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 5:

Because I want to share with my friends without sharing with the world sometimes. I don't know if you know this, Mike, but we have like millions of listeners and sometimes not everything is for them.

01:16:17 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 1:

Quick question for you, though. Do you ever sit there and think to yourself that maybe if that is that much of a deal, you should probably not post it at all for anybody to say?

01:16:28 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you just text it to those people then? Then again, why do people gossip if you shouldn't say it?

01:16:35 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. So Megan wants to have you weigh in as a listener of who you think is the show member on this radio program that would be the show secret keeper, the best at keeping a secret. You got into a discussion with Mike about this?

01:16:56 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 5:

Discussion is a loose term. I would call it an argument because Mike doesn't believe that I am the best secret keeper on this show. And that truly hurt my feelings because I think a lot of people on the show would admit that I am the best secret keeper because my lips are absolutely sealed. It's one of the things I find to be my better quality is like it's not even a bragging right of, oh, my God, I can keep this information locked inside of me. It's more of a confession than I forget things so quickly. You can tell me and I'm not going to tell anybody else. And it's like, in one ear, 10 seconds passes out the other. Okay, and it's gone. And I got very offended because I've never shared anybody's secrets on this show. And I don't think we can say the same with everybody around here. And so my feelings were very, very, very hurt.

01:17:52 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, name a secret that you've kept the longest.

01:17:55 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's a trick question. But I didn't fall for it. Hey, prove it on my own point. Prove it on my own point. Without revealing secrets, would anybody like to divulge that I've kept one for a very long time? You've kept secrets for me.

01:18:10 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:18:10 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

You've kept things I've said.

01:18:12 - 01:18:12 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:18:12 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Thank you.

01:18:13 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 1:

I actually might give her a little bit of, actually a lot of credit, because she is pretty good at keeping secrets.

01:18:21 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

I just think that, and she did keep a big secret for me, too, so I know that she is a good secret keeper. I just think I'm better. I just think I've heard better secrets than she's heard, and I've kept them. Better? Yes. You don't know that.

01:18:38 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 5:

You absolutely have no proof of that. You're such an idiot. Anyways, I think that we are very trustworthy people around here, which is why when I stumbled upon a thread last night on the internet of tell us your best secrets, I feel like because we're such good secret keepers, our listeners should tell us their biggest secrets and we could like voice disguise them.

01:19:01 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 1:

Can I, um, can I yell, by the way, that's a great topic to do. So 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548 without telling the name of the person too. It gets it off your chest because sometimes you just need to tell somebody, right?

01:19:13 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, absolutely. The past couple of days I've had big bombs in my life and I feel so bad for my brother because he'll come home from work or he'll like drop his bag at the door. And I'm like, and he's like, hi, good to see you, too. I'm like, sorry, just need to get that out there.

01:19:29 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 4:

I do that to my dog. I'm not kidding. Like, because sometimes I feel that, too. I just need to get it out. And I obviously don't want to divulge whatever information I know. So I talk to my dog all the time anyway. So I just tell my dog. And at least it, like, gets it out.

01:19:46 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Can I say that I get pinned as being the worst secret keeper of the show? I'm going to say this to you I've kept some of the biggest secrets

01:19:59 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes you have

01:20:00 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 2:

And I will say that I'm not saying that I should be proud of it, but I'm saying I think that my image of being the worst secret keeper helps me because anytime I tell anybody something, they don't know what the hell is going on. They're like, what the hell? And then when somebody tells me a secret and says, hey, keep this secret from me or whatever, you know I'm going to keep your secret because I give all the rest of the BS on the radio. Like, I tell my secrets on the radio. So wait. I don't tell them off the radio.

01:20:32 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

What you're admitting here is that you rate secrets on their importance and value. And if you think they're valuable, you'll keep that. If not, you'll share that. No. Because you seem to share a lot of my secrets. So do you not find mine as valuable as other people's?

01:20:47 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 2:

I have not shared any of your secrets except for the fact that Megan currently has a boyfriend that she's not telling anybody about.

01:20:54 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 3:

And his name is Carl Carl Junior Could you imagine

01:21:03 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Megan dating a Carl would be the greatest thing ever Or a Chad would only be The only thing better Should I voice this guy is everybody here Alright hold on Let's grab the voice this guy Machine up here We'll start with Line number four Hello hi you're being voices guys i'll give you your first initial it's the letter s what's happening

01:21:48 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 1:

01:21:53 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 2:

01:22:17 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 3:

01:22:21 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 2:

with online that's that's who knows their secrets all right now let me get to the topic of uh people telling us their secrets uh we'll call you also initial s initial s your voice disguised

01:22:32 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 4:

01:22:41 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 2:

stop for one second you got a bad phone line and you got the voice disguiser which is very difficult so speak a little slower and tell us your best friend what my best friend still has

01:22:54 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 4:

a secret kept and what is it the secret is that when i was dating my ex-boyfriend i told him i'd rather be with him than my ex-boyfriend oh so your best friend's a guy yeah oh okay so that's I didn't understand at first. Okay.

01:23:12 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And everybody's exes, why don't you just do it?

01:23:18 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. He doesn't like me back.

01:23:24 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, that stinks. We'll call you alias Sam, voice disguised. Hi, what's your secret?

01:23:33 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 5:

I accidentally burnt my house when I was in my younger 20s, and I blamed it on faulty wiring. I had a two-year-old kid, and I didn't lost everything. We didn't have no fridge, no clothes, no nothing. And then I was getting sued for $130,000 on top of it from a big insurance company. And so I just went to court and let them take the fall. So, you know, I didn't want my, you know, to burn my whole family's future down. And I'm still going to say something I've never told anybody.

01:24:10 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Oh, my God.

01:24:11 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 5:

That's so good.

01:24:12 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean.

01:24:13 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 5:

Wow. It hurts. It actually hurts. But I had to hold in. But I told it once at an AA meeting. I spent sober.

01:24:20 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 2:

So.

01:24:21 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:24:21 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 2:

So.

01:24:22 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 5:

Now people probably know who I am, but.

01:24:24 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 2:

No, I think those people are the best secret keepers. People that you go to AA with are always very good about that. That's an amazing one. Amanda, alias for you. What's your secret that you want to tell us? Hi.

01:24:38 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 4:

So, long-time listener, first-time caller. So, sorry about that. My secret is, so, I am in a three-year relationship, and my boyfriend and I, when we are baking cookies, I often close my eyes, and he always asks me, like, why are you doing this?

01:24:56 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. Slow down a little bit, because the voice geyser is tough when you're talking fast.

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 3:

So, say that again when you and your boyfriend are baking cookies.

01:25:04 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So, when we're baking cookies, he often asks me, like, why I close my eyes so much. And I have always, through our own relationship, told him that it's just because I want to be, like, in the moment. And, like, it helps me, you know, with my own self. And it's actually because I think of and imagine other people or people in books or movies.

01:25:27 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. Oh, my God.

01:25:29 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 2:

I've never, ever told us.

01:25:32 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Okay. Who are you imagining? People close to you or celebrities?

01:25:38 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 2:

People from my dating days, like back on Tinder and stuff, because we would do text, sexing, stuff like that. And it was just something I could read or imagine the conversation of or their faces because it reminds me of the conversation.

01:25:55 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 3:

So you were more turned on by them than your boyfriend?

01:25:57 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 2:

because he's yeah because he has difficulty getting super spicy with his words oh okay

01:26:05 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 3:

all right wow i don't know i think the guy burning down the house is tamer than that one that one would hurt more i think yeah yeah they're not gonna last uh initial a voice disguised here hi hi we're talking about secrets first who do you think on the show would be the worst secret

01:26:25 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 1:

keeper oh god um the worst secret keeper i was gonna say megan's the best but how about shannon

01:26:35 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 3:

being the worst she's the person that gives everybody's gossip out every single hour

01:26:39 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

okay all right what's your secret that you're gonna tell us um so my secret is um so a while like a long time ago i'd say like 12 years ago my mom moved to vegas with me and she kind of went do like a really bad like rough patch drugs um and she was she came back and she didn't have my grandmother's wedding ring which is a big huge diamond like it had multiple rings with it with diamonds and everybody thought she pond it and she couldn't remember and she thought she pond it well we were going through my grandmother's house um after she sold it and i found it and nobody else knew about it um and they were all like hoarding things and weren't like allowing me to have anything so i kind of kept it to myself and i was going through a rough patch so i ended up being

01:27:31 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 1:

the one who pawned it your grandma's wedding ring how much did you get um i got uh it was like 5,000? Oh, worth it. Hey, you know what? Get it, girl.

01:27:45 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh. No, that's... So nobody has any clue. They all thought, you know,

01:27:51 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 2:

it's gone. No, he knows. And I still think my mother did it. And, like, I mean, I'm not gonna feel like she kind of deserves that rep, but she kind of does. But, like, I don't know if I'll ever be able to tell her. Because, like, I'm my grandma's favorite and only grandchild. Like, I don't... I don't know if I could crush her like that.

01:28:12 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's amazing. That's a big one there. Thank you for the call and telling us that, Allie.

01:28:18 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thanks for listening. I feel good getting it off my chest with somebody at least.

01:28:23 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 3:

Now you have to give us some of that money or we're going to tell everybody.

01:28:27 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, I knew it was coming.

01:28:31 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. So Father's Day is going to be a fun one this weekend. I'm excited to be able to spend time. Luke is my only son that's home, so we're going to have a good time together. Something weird, though, happened yesterday. And this is something that we've talked about before in the past when we've had that psychic that's been in studio with us, the one that talks to the dead people, Rebecca Rosen. I've got to get this out of my throat. There you go. So Rebecca Rosen has been on our show before in the past and has talked about how my father will send me little things throughout the day to let me know that he is there. And for anybody that has heard over the years about me talking about my parents, you know, I lost both my mom and my dad, my dad later in life. So as a grown man, my dad got to see me as a father and got to hold all my kids. So he got to be with all three of my boys. And then he passed away at the age of 80. and I loved both my parents so much and sometimes in life I used to get frustrated with my dad and I think I took out things on him that I probably shouldn't have but now I see I am exactly that same person, you know? Yesterday was a wild day. I plugged in the aux cord in my car and I was driving down the street listening to music when just random things will come up.

01:30:00 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 1:

on my phone and it's usually things either a song that I download or in some cases a piece of audio that I download for the show that will go to my iTunes playlist or whatever it is and the weirdest thing happened after something kind of caught me off guard that played the song that came on afterwards was associated with what happened and I'm going to play it for you right now so yesterday while i was listening to music song is on next song comes on a voicemail which is the last voicemail that my dad had left for my sister um we pass it around amongst my brothers and sisters on father's day it started playing and it was a voicemail from my father who was basically calling to say, hey, I'm sorry because he wasn't feeling good and everybody had to leave the house, but he wanted to say that he loved us. And I'm going to play it for you guys right now. This is my dad's voice. And when I see what my dad looks like, I'll show you a picture of my dad here while you're listening to this voicemail message.

01:31:20 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 5:

The moment was a success. By the way, he wasn't feeling good.

01:31:29 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

His stomach was bothering him, so he had to go to the bathroom. So he was talking about his bowel movement at that time.

01:31:34 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry for coffee trouble.

01:31:40 - 01:31:42 | Unknown:

And you're leaving so early.

01:31:44 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 5:

I miss you. I love you. Bye-bye, Twitter.

01:31:53 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 1:

You can hear my dad there That's my dad right there That's my dad right there He's playing the maracas My dad would love to play music

01:32:08 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 5:

Did he play the harmonica?

01:32:10 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 1:

He played the harmonica, the maracas, the bongos He was Cuban, he was from Cuba So that audio plays on my phone And I'm like oh my god it caught me off guard is I'm sitting, you know, at a red light listening to this. And then right afterwards, this song plays. And I'm not making this up.

01:32:38 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 4:

He was a giant. And I was just a kid. I was always trying. To do everything he did I can still remember Every lesson he taught me Growing up, learning how to be Like my old man

01:33:06 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 1:

Starts playing right afterwards. God, did you just freak out?

01:33:11 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 5:

Was it waterworks for you?

01:33:12 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 1:

It started becoming waterworks. And then I kind of caught myself a little bit going, Dad, what the hell are you doing? Are you in this car right now? Because Rebecca has told me that he'll send me signs. Yes. And it's wild because my dad, Rebecca says, will come to me as a cardinal sometimes on our back deck. And I've seen it before. And I haven't seen that in a while. But when she was in with us not that long ago, she said my dad was there. And my dad was, you know, sending her messages. And it's like my dad is sending me messages as I'm getting ready to prepare for Father's Day.

01:33:49 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Did you start, like, having a conversation with him?

01:33:52 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 1:

Did you start, like... I did say something like, oh, dad. Like, I started, you know, as I was kind of tearing up. But I didn't, like, continue with it. Mike, do you do that with your dad? Do you have conversations?

01:34:02 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I'll just go outside, too. And if I feel, like, lost or, like, if that would have been the moment, I would call him for advice. I would just go outside and start talking to him. But there's been moments where weird stuff like that Nothing like that, that's incredible I truly believe that he was there in that moment

01:34:19 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 1:

It was the weirdest Feeling ever, but it was also One of the greatest feelings ever And I wanted to share that

01:34:26 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 4:

Now I'm a child

01:34:28 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 2:

It is

01:34:28 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 4:

Got a son of my own He's always trying To go everywhere I go Do the best I can The bow moment was a success

01:34:46 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 5:

And I'm back in my chair I'm sorry for coffee travel

01:34:55 - 01:34:58 | Unknown:

And you're leaving so early

01:35:00 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 5:

I miss you. I love you. Bye-bye, sweetheart.

01:35:11 - 01:35:11 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:35:20 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 2:

Don't you love that you have that?

01:35:22 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I love that I have it, but I love that I have the words that he said.

01:35:28 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:35:28 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

I miss you.

01:35:30 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 2:

I love you.

01:35:30 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 4:

I love you. Goodbye, sweetheart.

01:35:33 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:35:34 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 4:

Even though it was for Patton, not for me. Son of a bitch. Wow. That's beautiful. Do you guys save? I still have my dad in my phone as dad. I haven't taken him out of my phone. And my dad, you know, has been passed for some time now.

01:35:57 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 2:

Wes's parents have both passed, and he did not have a great relationship with his dad for various reasons, but he was very, very close with his mom, and she passed away from cancer a couple of years ago. And he does the same thing. He will listen to voicemails that she left him. He actually played some for my kids the other day just so that they could hear her voice. And it's so special to have those things.

01:36:21 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 3:

I wish there's a, I used to have a e-mail account and it's like, it was like a weird off brand of voicemails. You could get voicemails to it and I can't figure out how to get into it, but I think there are voicemails of my father on it.

01:36:35 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you got to figure.

01:36:36 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 3:

We got to figure.

01:36:37 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:36:38 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. If anybody knows e-mail, was it? Yeah. Yeah. It was like an old school email type of service. It was, I don't think it was, it was an app or it was like a forwarding number and I don't even remember why i had it at the time but i know i know they're on there i just don't know how to

01:36:53 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 4:

get into it before the cloud um the old iphones used to just keep it right on the phone and i have some old phones that i want to go through because i know that those old phones have got to have some messages on there too for my dad angela what's going on it's mojo in the morning first of all

01:37:10 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 1:

you're not supposed to make me cry after i finish my makeup i'm sorry i did i apologize um no i i i just um it's super weird that you're that you're having this topic because first of all my mom is still here let me precursor all of that but um yesterday was uh a 20th anniversary um she had gotten really really sick and um she had like six surgeries in in a month and um she lost a lot of her time her memory of of you know time frame of things and um she had to go back in for a last surgery and it was a big deal because we had put it off for as long as we could but um her favorite song is Tim McGraw's Live Like You're Dying. And they were sitting, they took her back, and we were sitting in the waiting room, and I plugged my iPod in, and I, you know, 2,500 songs, and I put them all on shuffle. And the very first song that came up was that song.

01:38:16 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:38:17 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy how that works?

01:38:19 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 4:

That's a message being sent to you. That's not coincidence, you know?

01:38:24 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 1:

No, no. It was bizarre.

01:38:27 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:38:27 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 1:

So, of course, I'm blubbering like an idiot in the waiting room because, you know, it's obvious. But, yeah, she is still here. We are good. But, yeah, it's weird that we're talking about this because yesterday was the 20th anniversary of it all started.

01:38:41 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 4:

Amazing. Wow. Well, thank God and send your mom our best wishes, okay?

01:38:46 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely. Thank you so much.

01:38:48 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

That's such a good song. And Tim McGraw, by the way, is going to be at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. It's going to be so awesome to see him perform that. What's up, Marilyn?

01:38:54 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 5:

hi well first I want to say I'm sorry for your lost mojo oh thank you I appreciate that I want to talk about messages so last year my grandpa passed away and I was on my way back actually from printing out his picture for church and it was the first time I let myself cry because I didn't want to cry for my mom and on my way back I'm passing by Santa's church which is my grandma's name that i passed away before i even met her and then in front of me the car said grandpa paul which was my grandpa's name holy cow i know it was like both of them giving me a sign that you know it's gonna be okay oh my gosh that's amazing we're sorry for your losses

01:39:41 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 4:

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 4:

You know, my voicemail is full still from Mama and Daddy's messages.

01:40:03 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:40:04 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 4:

You can't leave a voicemail on my phone.

01:40:07 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 2:

I think you tried once. I have. Joanie, make sure you have those somewhere else, too.

01:40:14 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we got to.

01:40:14 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 2:

01:40:34 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome.

01:40:35 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 4:

I got a house. That's incredible. Great.

01:40:39 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 3:

Joni, isn't it wild to think that our dads are probably getting drunk together like we all have?

01:40:44 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know it. Daddy's making his apple schnapps. It was so gross. I found it one year. It had mold on it. But, yeah, they're probably drinking apple schnapps and Stroh's.

01:41:00 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:41:00 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 4:

And Stroh's.

01:41:01 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 3:

My dad is probably telling some crazy stories that I used to always think were completely fake until I went to Cuba and actually realized that some of these stories were true. I just think my dad was the biggest, like, exaggerator of things.

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Dude, have you ever seen the movie Big Fish?

01:41:17 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's it, right?

01:41:19 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I love that movie. I do, too.

01:41:20 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 5:

01:41:42 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Love you so much Joni

01:41:44 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 6:

Sorry you got caught cheating by not deleting those texts You meant to delete Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:41:58 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, what's trending this hour in the dirty?

01:42:00 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, Hailey Bieber is telling her fans to stop the negativity already. She shared a post on her Instagram story yesterday asking her followers to not leave mean comments on, we know she was talking about Selena Gomez's social media, even though she didn't name drop Selena. But she wrote, if you're leaving mean or rude comments on my behalf, on anyone's posts, just know that I don't want that, nor do I ever or will I ever support or condone hateful, mean, or nasty comments. Obviously, a little feud between the two of them, unspoken, at least according to fans, for the past couple of years. She continued, doing that is not supporting me. If you are participating in that, you are a part of a culture that I want no part of. Please be nice or don't say anything. And her plea for compassion comes after the comment section of one of Selena's recent IG posts was filled with just really, really awful comments, including ones calling her irrelevant, others accusing her of playing the victim in what is allegedly happening between these two young ladies. So she's just saying, please make it stop. Kevin Costner asking a court to get his soon to be ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, to leave his home, according to their prenup. The Oscar-winning actor said that following his estranged wife's May 1st divorce filing, according to the terms of their prenup, she had a 30-day period to move out. Costner told the court he believes Christine is staying in the home to try and persuade him to give in to these various financial demands that she's making in the wake of their split. He said, look, I've already set her up, okay? I've given her a million and a half dollars under the terms of the prenup. A million and a half dollars? That's enough money for her to find a new home.

01:43:46 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 3:

Which is a lot of money. But a million and a half dollars doesn't seem like a lot of what Kevin Costner's maiden is like.

01:43:51 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you, but way back in 2004 when they got married, not saying that's still not a lot of money, but that's what they wrote in there, okay?

01:44:01 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 1:

Can enough time ever pass that the prenup becomes non-void? Like, can the situation ever become so different than the conditions that are under what you... Oh, my God. I don't know. I don't think so. That's a really interesting question.

01:44:14 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 3:

I don't think there's a statute of limitations on something like that.

01:44:17 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 1:

Right, but is there ever a situation where your life is so different it wouldn't even apply anymore?

01:44:21 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 2:

Like you hit the jackpot or you sell a business and you're a billionaire all over. I don't know. That's a good question.

01:44:27 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 5:

For better or for worse.

01:44:29 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

For richer or for poorer. Till death do us part. Ryan Seacrest could be the next host of Real Fortune. I could see this. He's reportedly in the running to replace Pat Sajak, who announced on Monday that he's going to be leaving the show at the end of the upcoming 41st season. And so I'm hearing two different things here. I'm hearing, yes, Ryan is in talks with producers. And then I'm hearing, well, it hasn't really gotten that far yet. He's just one of many people that are saying they are interested in the job. Nick Cannon, also part of that. that pot of people and then whoopi goldberg yesterday on the view they were interviewing ken jennings and she mentioned that she would really like to try her hand at the gig you know

01:45:10 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 3:

that's an interesting question hopefully wheels got an envelope somewhere that says what to do when

01:45:17 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 4:

i want that job by the way i'm telling you they should just pick somebody like out of left field For this thing Ryan Seacrest You know who he is Ryan Seacrest Is the guy in high school That was the quarterback The point guard And the shortstop Of the baseball team

01:45:38 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

And the star of the high school musical And then the star of the high school musical

01:45:40 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 4:

Can't do everything man It's not even fun anymore To be around the guy That's that successful And he continues to keep on getting things like this

01:45:47 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 2:

But isn't this show Like way too slow paced for him though too I don't know Like I feel like he would look bored

01:45:52 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Really? I mean, I thought that live with Kelly and Ryan was pretty slow-paced.

01:45:58 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that's way more faster-paced than Wheel of Fortune. Do you think so? Yeah. I don't know. I could actually see Whoopi, too. I don't know. All right, Johnny Depp going to be donating a portion of his settlement in his defamation case with Amber Heard to five separate charities, Make Film Foundation, Red Feather, The Pain of Turtles. There's a whole bunch of them. They're going to receive donations of $200,000 each, totaling a million bucks. And remember, Amber announced back in December she was going to settle the case instead of appealing the verdict in the 2022 defamation case that Johnny Depp launched against her. And Megan, Taco Bell, one of your favorites, has partnered with one of Scott and Mick's favorites, Crocs, to release a special edition pair of Crocs for the summer. The new Crocs will feature the Taco Bell purple and black colors logo and will have the words live and moss imprinted on the soles of the shoes. They're going to go on sale on the Crocs website. June 28th, the price tag, $60. However, priority access will be given to Taco Bell fire tier members on June 20th. Here's why I'm mad and I'm saying no. Because my ass is about to go out and buy some Crocs. I resisted for so long and then I finally came to the best.

01:47:13 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they're the most comfortable, aren't they? They are so comfortable. Told you.

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. A couple of things that I saw that I wanted to bring up in the news. I know you do the dirty and we got trending news coming up later this morning, but I know I won't have time to get into this a little bit later, but there's so many different ones. um number one i wanted to bring up was i did not know this but according to the metro times traverse city is the cocaine capital of the u.s huh a study ranked michigan's traverse city and grand rapids among the top 10 wildest cities in the u.s ranking at number three and number 10 And Traverse City had an overall wildness score of a 7.71 out of a 10. The city is renowned for its vineyards and wineries, but also has 12.76 strip clubs per 100,000 residents. And 65.8% have taken marijuana.

01:48:38 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 2:

Taken marijuana?

01:48:40 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 4:

According to the story. I'm reading it right from the thing here. When it comes to cocaine use, Traverse City is number one, with 23.8% of its population of 15,675 have taken it. That's what they refer to it as. Grand Rapids came in number nine at 21.4% of its population of 195,911 using the drug. This is pretty wild. I did not know this.

01:49:10 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 2:

That actually shocks me.

01:49:11 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it? Well, does it shock you or is it just because it's the amount of people that live there and maybe the bigger cities have just more people in it than Traverse City does? But it's still a high amount of people, though, that are taking cocaine.

01:49:32 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 2:

I also didn't know there were that many strip clubs in Traverse City. I've never seen one.

01:49:36 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 4:

KP used to live and do radio in Traverse City.

01:49:39 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, she's the perfect person.

01:49:40 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 4:

Let's come in here and tell us about this. Do they have a lot of strip clubs in Traverse City? How's the Coke?

01:49:49 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, I can't say anything about the Coke, but there were a lot of dispensaries. You probably couldn't go a mile without seeing the dispensary up there.

01:49:57 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:49:58 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:49:58 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

There's a lot of popular...

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 2:

places there, huh? Now, the gentlemen's

01:50:02 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 1:

clubs, quite a few of those. Really?

01:50:06 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 2:

I never thought about it. I always thought that when I think of Traverse City, and I've never been to Traverse City, believe it or not, it's crazy. I've traveled through pretty much the entire mitten, but I've never gone to Traverse City. I always thought of it as the place to bring my family and drink wine or take a romantic trip with Chelsea. Now, I feel like I'm going to change my outfits that I'm going to

01:50:28 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 1:

there. Rumor has it, and I don't know from experience, but rumor has it that the strip clubs are off the beaten path a little bit. So they're off in the woods in different places. In the woods? Not like in the woods in the woods, but like it's away from the city. So you don't have to go to where all those family friendly places are and be by a strip club. So it's off a little bit.

01:50:49 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I feel a lot of tourism goes up to Traverse City, so I just feel like it's a place to

01:50:54 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 2:

party and hang out. It's appropriate to have a fun time there. What's going on, Joe? How you doing?

01:50:59 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, guys?

01:51:01 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 2:

How you guys doing? Good. You want to come with us this weekend? We're going to do some lines in Traverse

01:51:04 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 3:

City. Oh, my gosh. Sounds like a plan, man. Let's get some blow and go to Traverse City. First, I don't know if you remember Mojo, but I'm the one with the dog Aries, the Mojo in the morning dog.

01:51:18 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. Okay. Yes, I remember. So,

01:51:21 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 3:

I worked in a couple different task forces uh where we've busted you know a lot of a lot of drug uh drug groups around the state mostly with colleges uh that seems to be where a lot of the problems are but we have done quite a few where they try to ship them through traverse city they get a lot of them from canada they move them a lot of them through canada and then a lot of them come into traverse city interesting can i

01:51:48 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 2:

can i tell you the perspective joe of this um the perspective of traverse city being in the top 10 of the wildest cities and also grand rapids number one wildest city on the cocaine list is reno nevada uh per capita capital there an 8.61 followed by portland oregon now both of those places nevada and oregon would be like okay yeah i could see that people like you know probably uh you know get into drugs and stuff you know whatever traverse city and grand rapids they didn't want to put our radio show on wsnx because they said that we were too wild for the city yet they're all they're all doing cocaine out there tim i want to know what's the story there

01:52:38 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 1:

we're not trying to blow up our spot either so like calm it down

01:52:40 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, like I said, a lot of it is college kids now. Lots of college kids do it now, especially in the Midwest.

01:52:50 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:52:50 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 3:

Now that weed is legal, I guess, from our perspective, the assumption is that, well, now that weed is legal, it's not as cool anymore, so they've got to get their hands on the next big illegal drug, which is cocaine.

01:53:03 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like that, to me, is something I'm not touching. I'm not touching anything that can blow your brains out, you know, when you put it in. And the other one, too, is I just can't get into it. Like, I see these people that are, and I'm going to put this as a word of warning out to you. You can think I'm lame, whatever. If you go out to a party, you're a young high school, college kid or whatever, even middle school kid, or a friend of yours says, hey, try this. If they say try this, punch them in the nose. Because when you hear these stories About a kid who's never done drugs Before in their life Takes one what's supposed to be an Adderall That happens to have fentanyl And they die And then all of a sudden your parents have to live For the rest of their lives without you And being told that you are an overdose That's not an overdose That is a poisoning

01:53:58 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 3:

One of the craziest things We've ever seen is a mix between Cocaine, Adderall, and Concerta We've seen mixes of that before. What is that? What's the last one? Concerta. It's like a low-dose Adderall. It's basically Adderall without calling it Adderall. That's how the doctors do it.

01:54:19 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 2:

So meth? Yeah.

01:54:21 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 3:

It's just like a low-dose Adderall.

01:54:24 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to say this, that obviously I necessarily didn't think that it was going to go this direction, but I think it's good because we don't talk about this enough. but seriously if this gets any message at all of a parent talk to your kids it was wild to talk to my boys and to have the conversation with them because uh sheriff bouchard told me to like i've been friends with mike for a while and oakland county sheriff bouchard said hey have you ever talked to your sons about you know not taking something from a friend like a you know a pill or a drug and he told me a story about a young kid that lived in rochester

01:55:00 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 3:

or that this happened to, the parents ended up getting the phone call that he ended up, you know, the NARCAM didn't work on him. And I'm going to be real blatantly honest with our listeners. If you're a parent, you need to have this discussion with your kids because it is a pandemic, not an epidemic, a pandemic out there right now. And there's been way too many lives that have been lost by the poisoning of fentanyl being used in these street drugs. So, all right. Anybody want to go to Traverse City for a little vacation? Yes, let's go.

01:55:41 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 5:

We actually do, but not for that.

01:55:42 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 3:

By the way, what do the strippers look like in Traverse City? Collars. They're all in flint.

01:55:48 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 2:

They're Wrangler jeans. Really?

01:55:51 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

Are they like 70-year-old ladies that retire up there?

01:55:55 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 2:

No, they work at every single store. They're standing up in place with the same person at the stripper at the ice cream shop. Bernadine to the stage.

01:56:03 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 5:

Get your fudge in a motorbike.

01:56:14 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 2:

You are listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:56:19 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 1:

call the show now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548

01:56:31 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning show so i think at first look shannon i would think the same thing that you thought and i would wonder what's the story behind this whole thing oh my gosh you're driving down

01:56:49 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 5:

the road, okay? And should I say where I was? That's pretty generic. I was 24-mile in Van Dyke area.

01:56:55 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 3:

That's pretty generic. 24-mile in Van Dyke.

01:56:58 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't on either of those roads. I was at 2765 Van Dyke Road. Those are the major cross streets. 48322. What's your address? And passed a bunch of garbage bags and suitcases out on a sidewalk. And I thought, someone's in trouble and got kicked out. Just the way that the garbage bags were like haphazardly, you could tell, thrown out the window of this home. You knew that somebody got kicked out. And the only reason I thought it was a female was because there were also some suitcases that were thrown out there as well, and they were like purple and pink and fuchsia.

01:57:42 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm not saying that I couldn't have that. When you get kicked out, you take whatever you can to put your stuff into it. It could be a male or a female.

01:57:47 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 5:

But I told Wes, I was like, okay, well, we had a quick errand around. I was like, turn around, turn around, turn around. I want to go back and see if they were still there. And sure enough, there she was. She was probably mid to late 20s. And it looked like, actually, when we were passing again, maybe like a dad or a grandpa was helping her pick up everything all across the yard and put it in the back of a car. And I thought, oof.

01:58:11 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 3:

It could be. Well, it might be too early for going away to college or something like that. Oh, no. It wasn't.

01:58:16 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 5:

It wasn't like nice, neat piles of stuff like that. It was like, you're out of here. You're evicted. Yes. Are you sure it was her dad? It looked, I don't know.

01:58:27 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

I mean, everything's speculation. They could be going on a long vacation and we just don't know. But I will say this to you. When I hear these stories all the time of, I'm going to throw your stuff on the curb, you know, those stories all the time are ones that I'm like, wow, do people really do that? Do people really throw all your belongings out on the curb?

01:58:47 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 5:

When I lived in Atlanta, I lived in a townhouse. So there were probably like 80 townhouses in our little development. And I can remember one time, I don't know if it was the guy or the girl. It must have been the girl, I think, who was. All I remember is she was on the second level. And they lived right across from me, like Kitty Corner. And she was throwing crap out that top window onto the ground. Not even in bags or garbage bags. It was not good

01:59:13 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 4:

To pack it up is so much effort Like that would be so much effort to throw it out at that point You're now packing a bag for somebody And then sending it out I would just throw it on the lawn

01:59:22 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 3:

My favorite video ever was the one from New York City Where the person had obviously cheated And the people in the apartment across the way Were taking pictures of The woman throwing everything out of like the 15th story window Oh yeah Or something Didn't you witness something like that too?

01:59:41 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

locally kp somebody yes so well it wasn't a cheating situation i mean i don't think but the apartment complex behind the 55 and a half community that i live in with my grandparents somebody did not move out in time that they got evicted they didn't get their stuff out so the complex was throwing full-size

02:00:00 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

Furniture, like tables, chairs, couches, out of the top floor, down below. Just throwing them. Into the dumpster. It was just like, and everybody in the backyard was like, we're watching. It was a spectacle. It was like, whoa, is this really happening in the backyard?

02:00:13 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 2:

Instead of giving it away or anything, they just were throwing it out.

02:00:17 - 02:00:31 | Speaker 3:

I mean, what is the complex going to do? Put up a garage sale for somebody that's got evicted? Yeah. Well, not throw it. Not throw it. Maybe just place it down by the curb. Yeah. Well, those workers just wanted to get the job done. They're just getting it done. They just wanted to get all that stuff out. It makes me feel bad for the people who got it.

02:00:31 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 2:

No, it's got to be a better process.

02:00:33 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 3:

I know.

02:00:34 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning, not a better process when your spouse is a cheater and you're kicking them out. You throw that crap right there on that front lawn. Hannah, hi.

02:00:44 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

02:00:45 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 2:

Hannah, what did you do?

02:00:48 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my ex, he repeatedly cheated on me, and I was young, like 21 at the time, and he did it again. and finally I just emotionally was exhausted and had enough. I gave him until like 11 p.m. that night to come get his belongings from my apartment on the third floor. And it was like 11.30 and he didn't come. Finally he shows up. I wouldn't let him in my apartment, so I just started throwing all of his belongings out the third floor window to him.

02:01:18 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wow. Wow.

02:01:21 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 4:

From maybe even his Xbox. Oh, no.

02:01:25 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 2:

Maybe even. I mean, you remember that. Come on. Did it feel good, though? Was that like therapy for you?

02:01:31 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, it really was.

02:01:34 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that is kind of therapeutic. I would recommend. What is that famous song that I always loved so much? It was one of my favorites. Maybe this is something you could have done if his car was parked there, too. Oh, before he was here, he ever was here. Yeah, this could have been you, okay? Next time, if anybody ever cheats on you, I hope that they wouldn't, Hannah. You can be like Jasmine here. Yeah.

02:02:17 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 5:

It's a window brick.

02:02:20 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

On beat. All right, Voices Guy Sandy, or Stacey, I'm sorry. Why am I sorry? We gave up a fake name. Sandy, Stacey, what's happening?

02:02:36 - 02:02:37 | Unknown:

This is Stacey.

02:02:37 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Stacey. Well, I was giving you the fake name there. What's going on?

02:02:43 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I did this one time. I was so ticked when I found out he was texting somebody. I took all his stuff And I just was looking it off the front door I didn't put it in any suitcases It was bags and nothing Was there anybody around

02:02:59 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 5:

To play witness to this and see you doing it?

02:03:03 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so And if they did they caught a head behind the door Wow

02:03:07 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 2:

So what were some of the items that you remember Most that you picked up and threw Right there on the front

02:03:14 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 1:

All his clothes And pictures

02:03:17 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 2:

It feel good

02:03:21 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god I just wanted to put gasoline on it Next to torch it up

02:03:26 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 2:

She sounds like a fire starter Are you in a relationship right now And if so can I have their phone number to call And warn them to never do you wrong Oh my god

02:03:37 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 1:

02:03:38 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 2:

You can't get my number though That is by the way Rubbing our fingers together My lord Alright Stacey You don't live on Van Dyke do you?

02:04:05 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 1:

02:04:07 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 2:

Alright Talk to you later we'll see ya Thank you Alright goodbye I'm like I'm having PTSD from now I want to know This is the weirdest phone call ever I'm going to make I can't believe I'm going to make this one I just want to know real quick When I dial up my wife If I ever did her wrong Would she throw my stuff on the front lawn And what would be the stuff Chelsea What are you doing

02:04:41 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Getting my hair done

02:04:42 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, nice. Chelsea, quick question for you. If I ever was cheating on you and got caught, would you throw my stuff on the front lawn or is there something else that you would do?

02:05:00 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 5:

no i'd probably pack it up very nicely for you and just let you leave really okay i just wondering

02:05:07 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 3:

if you're the type that would throw the or how about this okay here's a question for you and i'll send this picture to you because chelsea sent it to me this morning chelsea sent me a picture of the laundry room and all my clean clothes that she cleaned for me that she's like if you don't put these things away today if i don't put these clothes away today would you

02:05:27 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 5:

throw those on the front lawn okay first of all i didn't say if you don't put these things no i know you didn't no you said please put these away no no no today is the day we're talking no we're

02:05:37 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 3:

just talking about that as a topic of people throwing things on the front lawn when they you know oh yeah so if i don't put all this look at all those clothes do you see this you see the pictures i've got so many clean clothes right now i gotta put those away today all right i love you I'll let you go back to getting your hair done.

02:05:55 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay, love it. Should I? All right, bye.

02:05:57 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 3:

I think that you would throw stuff on the front lawn. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you guys think that you have it in you? Like Shannon and...

02:06:06 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I had to do this.

02:06:07 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 3:

You did? Oh, no. Now we know. Well, no, no, no.

02:06:10 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 2:

So I didn't throw it on the front lawn. So you know I had a very bad relationship right before I moved here and stopped a wedding from happening and broke off our relationship because it was really, really bad. well that guy and I we lived together and so all his crap I told him to leave and leave immediately and he did and he actually like went out of state when he left and so I had his crap at our house for you know a couple of maybe like a month or two and finally I was like if you don't come and get it like I'm just going to donate it all and so he said oh I'm going to send somebody to come and get it and so I threw it all in garbage bags just threw it, like literally ripped it off the hangers and threw it all in garbage bags. I will F you up, bitch! And then I felt guilty, so I took it all out, folded it, and put it back in the garbage bag.

02:06:57 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, come on.

02:07:00 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 2:

He was a huge ass. I should have just left it in the garbage bag. You had us. But then I folded it.

02:07:08 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 3:

Push over.

02:07:09 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm such a push over.

02:07:10 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Girls will always do the nice thing. I had a guy leave his clothes at my house, So I washed it and I folded it and I brought it back to him. I left my shirt at his house one time. I didn't realize I left it there a month later. I'm like, hey, you have my shirt. He's like, I threw that away. And I'm like, what? You throw my shirt away? I wash and fold and bring it back and you throw it away? Yeah. Bad boys.

02:07:35 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You guys got to have it in you. Megan, you'd have it in you, right? Oh. If your brother ever does anything to piss you off, you're throwing his crap on the front lawn.

02:07:43 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. He doesn't even really have to piss me off for me to want to do that, to be honest.

02:07:47 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 5:

It just seems like it would be fine.

02:07:49 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 3:

You need to do that today. Just all of a sudden have him come home and Sean's stuff is all scattered.

02:07:55 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 5:

It's everywhere. Get out.

02:07:57 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Also, could you please do the dishes and put them away?

02:08:02 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour is Dirty on the 30.

02:08:06 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, former President Donald Trump answering a plea of not guilty to those 37 felony charges yesterday. After the arraignment, he went to a little restaurant in Miami's little Havana neighborhood where he bought food for everybody who was there hanging out. They all sang happy birthday to him. Oh, today is his birthday, right? It's 77. Look at the outside. Happy birthday to you.

02:08:30 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 5:

Happy birthday to you.

02:08:33 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

Some birthday. Some birthday. Some birthday. We got a government that's out of control.

02:08:38 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 3:

They're singing happy birthday to him. Let's just listen to this. They're all singing happy birthday to him, and he's still talking. Yeah. I did nothing wrong. Why are they doing it? Like, he's enjoying the happy birthday.

02:08:49 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 5:

What a great trip to New Jersey.

02:08:52 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 2:

What a great trip to New Jersey. Isn't that funny? Later in the evening, he flew to New Jersey to address supporters at his golf club there, denied the charges, called it a sham indictment, and chalked up the whole thing to election interference.

02:09:04 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

Today we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country. Very sad thing to watch. A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty right in the middle of a presidential election in which he's losing very badly.

02:09:28 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Trump's attorney and spokesperson was talking about whether the former president yesterday had been arrested, fingerprinted, and taken a mugshot. And basically said he, you know, the former president's in a very unique position where he doesn't need a mugshot because he's the lead candidate of, you know, a presidential election at the moment. He was president. I didn't know that. He's going through a process that has been coordinated with the Secret Service, so didn't need to be fingerprinted, and he wasn't arrested because he's not a flight risk.

02:10:00 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 4:

I always thought that that was just a given that they just do the mugshots, but I guess they don't for that case. You know what's interesting about this whole thing is they were talking about how this case may not happen before even the election, the 2024 election, that it might happen afterwards. So if he wins the election, he technically could stop the investigation from even going through by having his attorney general or whoever he chooses stop the case. So, you know, they were talking about that. But then they were also talking about yesterday they spent, they devoted more than 200, or in total time they've devoted more than 291 minutes to Trump on the networks. So all the networks pretty much, that's all they covered over the last time. And the current president of the United States, President Biden, has had zero minutes covered with him on anything that was going on at all in the United States yesterday because this was the big thing that everybody was talking about.

02:11:00 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 2:

The Weeknd is responding to all of the controversy surrounding that sex scene at the end of episode two of HBO's The Idol that everybody's talking about. Have you started watching it?

02:11:11 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 5:

I can't stand it. I'm sorry.

02:11:12 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, it's not getting good reviews, and people are saying it is so over the top, especially this particular scene. I have not watched, full disclosure. I've heard a lot about it. But Abel chatting with GQ about that scene, which features his character like verbally seducing the pop star character played by Lily Rose Depp. It's graphic. Like I can't even describe it to you because we'll get fined. That's what graphic it is. But Abel tells GQ, however you're feeling watching that scene, whether it's discomfort or you feel grossed or you feel embarrassed, it's all of those emotions adding up to this guy, this character that he plays is in way over his head. And he called the sex in that particular scene gluttonous. Nobody likes that show

02:11:57 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't like it I'm waiting for it to get good And it's not Because the creators of Euphoria I think were in charge of this show

02:12:03 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 4:

Is it rating? Are people watching it?

02:12:07 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

People are talking about it I don't know if people are watching it I haven't looked at the ratings for it But I keep hearing the same thing Over and over again And it's just the same reaction KT had Is The Weeknd a good actor?

02:12:19 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 3:

Did you see him in Uncut Gems? That's like the only thing I've seen him in I think so, yeah

02:12:24 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 4:

I think I saw Uncut. Who's in Uncut Gems?

02:12:26 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 3:

That's Adam Sandler. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Kate, Kevin Gardner.

02:12:29 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 4:

What was the weekend in that?

02:12:30 - 02:12:34 | Speaker 3:

The weekend. He was the weekend? Like himself before he blew up. That was his role.

02:12:35 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Okay.

02:12:36 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 2:

Trans influencer Rose Montoya is now banned from the White House because she flashed her boobs at President Biden's Pride event on Saturday. Now, a couple of facts here. She was an invited guest. She did shake hands with the president and then later pulled down her dress. She was wearing this little white dress to expose her breasts. So the White House, a rep for the White House, says this behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event. It's not reflective of the event we hosted. And Rose is just saying, look, I didn't do anything wrong. It's not illegal to go topless in Washington, D.C.

02:13:13 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 1:

And because it is perfectly within the law in Washington, D.C., I decided to join them and cover my nipples just to play it safe because I wanted to be fully free in myself. I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way. I was simply living in joy, living my truth and existing in my body. Happy Pride. Free the nipple.

02:13:42 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Nicki Minaj confirming that, yes, she did undergo breast reduction surgery. She made that revelation on Instagram. She was promoting her new song with I Spice Barbie World for the upcoming Barbie movie soundtrack. And she wrote as a caption, new boobs. Who dis? The reveal comes more than a year after Nicki shared her desire to downsize and have the surgery, saying she really wanted it to be a cup season. Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:14:39 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 4:

mojo the morning show you know sometimes you feel like you know somebody and then you hear a story and you're like oh i didn't know that

02:15:00 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 1:

And then you say to yourself, oh, we should talk about that on the radio because I don't think our listeners kind of get it. You know, usually they hear just the version of us on the radio that is being told in some of the stories that we like to tell. Like sometimes we tell the stories that we want of ourselves, but we don't tell the stories that others might know about us. And that has happened with a couple of different people. One particular that I did not know. Like, here's one. Some of our listeners may not have even known this person, but you talk to her when she, you know, answers the phones every single morning. But did you guys know this? Did you guys know that Lydia, who answers the call, that she goes to Bible study once a week? So, I think it's, what is it, Wednesday night or Thursday night that she or Bible study?

02:15:51 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 3:

It's on Wednesdays.

02:15:52 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Wednesdays. So, tonight. So, she does Bible study. I did not know that about her. Did you know that K.P., the other mystery lady here at the station, did you know that K.P. will sing in the choir at St. Joe's, the Catholic church or Catholic school that she's a parishioner of, that she's a choir girl, that she's sung in the choir.

02:16:16 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 4:

And she's insanely amazing.

02:16:18 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 1:

Trailer Swift? Can you sing Ave Maria for me? I love that song.

02:16:22 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 3:

Right now? Yeah, please. I don't have the words memorized. I can sing you the first Ave, maybe. That's all that anybody knows. I didn't warm up. We're not doing this. Come on. Hold on one second. No, I can't do this. One of my favorites.

02:16:37 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 1:

There's two songs I love from Catholic Mass. One is that one song. One bread, one body. No, that one's too low. One Lord of Lords. I like that one that goes, get low. No, they don't sing that one. They don't sing that one Come on Mike The Ave Maria one though Is always the one I love The Ave Maria Come on

02:17:03 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 3:

You can do it Maybe one day It's not gonna be today No? No We're all just staring at her It's too high to do Like right off the bat

02:17:12 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 4:

Give us one of your songs though You posted on your Instagram A couple of months ago A song that you did And you were singing And it was so beautiful And I had no idea I remember I texted you And I was like

02:17:21 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 3:

Yes that was

02:17:23 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 4:

It was so, so pretty. Yes, it was a duet with... Yes, there was a dude.

02:17:29 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 1:

Listen to... This is KP from St. Joe's in Lake Oregon. It's unbelievable. They recorded that. Somebody send it to me.

02:17:35 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 3:

Listen to the maiden's blood.

02:17:46 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

The other one that I learned, on another member of the show was the new guy, Kev. I didn't know this about him until a birdie told me this. Do you know that Kev has a homeless friend who he visits frequently and brings food to?

02:18:11 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 2:

My guy, Tim. By the way, I'm starting to agree with Megan. He may not be the best secret keeper.

02:18:15 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if these things are related,

02:18:17 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 2:

but we're sharing a lot.

02:18:18 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing. People always hear us talk about the, you know, So the version of this story that we like to tell, which is sometimes the version of the story that makes us seem like we're edgy and crazy and whatever. We're so cool. But these stories, to me, are the true stories that people need to know that there is well-rounded people that, you know, care about what's going on. So, Tim, where's this homeless guy at?

02:18:43 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so he's like nine mile in the lodge, I believe. Yeah, nine mile in the lodge. So I, I, uh, I just love people, man. Uh, I love inspiring people. I love being someone that people can talk to, uh, and share things with. I just want people to have an experience with me where they walk away and they feel better than they were when they came in. And, uh, I saw Tim, I saw him a couple of times. And this particular time I had, uh, my usual Chipotle order, you know, large bag of chips, two bowls, all the fixings. And, um, to be honest with you, I was, like, so hungry. I was like, I'm not about to give him this. And I didn't. And I felt extremely bad. And then the next time I went to Chipotle, I got my same order, and I saw Tim. And I said, you know what? I'm giving Tim one of these bowls. I don't care how hungry I am. I'm giving him a bowl. So I rolled out the window. I gave him a bowl. He was like, it don't have fajitas. It don't have all the hot stuff. I was like, no, sir. It's cool. It's going to be okay. He was like, I don't like chives. I was like, I don't have any chives. It's okay, dog. Tim's a picky guy. He's like, I kind of liked it. I was like, hey, man, you know, you're still a person. Get what you get. So I gave Tim the bowl, and I saw Tim two days later, and I said, hey, man, did you enjoy it? He was like, oh, man, it was so good. It was so good. I just wish.

02:20:00 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 1:

I had some oyster crackers with me and the bowl was wet. You ever get those Chipotle bowls where the water's leaking out of the bag? Like soup. It's the beans.

02:20:11 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 3:

They go dig deep for the beans.

02:20:14 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 1:

He was like, you know those oyster crackers that you get with chili? I was like, hmm, mental note. You like chili? He's like, yeah, man, I love chili. So immediately I went to Wendy's and I got a large chili, a large lemonade and they didn't have crackers so I got them a large fry for that effect. and went back and gave it to him and the look in his face man it just seemed like nobody had ever done anything for him that's awesome such a long time and then yesterday i went back to check on him he's like man i talked about you at the shelter all day yesterday so today i have a i have some jeans i access jeans so he wears a 32 34 he's wearing a medium up top and he's a nine and a half in shoe so i already got some clothes ready and today i'm gonna take josiah my son so he can be a part of this moment also we're gonna put together a care package and take it to my god

02:20:57 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible. I love that. See, I love stories like these, and these are the stories that sometimes you don't hear, and sometimes, honestly, the news never covers of when people do nice things. Like, everything is so divisive in this world. Everybody's so mean. And then occasionally you'll hear a story about somebody doing something like that. Like, you know, the positivity that comes out of it is awesome, and hopefully it spurs people on to not just pass somebody by and just assume something. You know, Tim has a name, right? He's not just the guy that's a homeless that's on Nine Mile. What's going on, Melissa?

02:21:31 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. Good morning, everybody.

02:21:33 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's up?

02:21:34 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was just telling my story to Lydia. She's amazing. We both do Bible study on Wednesday night in different churches. But I just want to tell you, I gave this homeless man, I seen him on the corner on Memorial Day on Van Dyke there on Mound Road. And I seen him for days, and I offered him. I asked him, I stopped and talked to him, and I said, hey, what's going on? What's your story? And he told me a story about, you know, his brother and his dogs and everything. Showed me the car that he had in the back of the parking lot. I brought him the next day to the mechanic and paid for $1,000 to get his car fixed.

02:22:09 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's amazing. God, that's incredible. Melissa, after you did that, how did you feel?

02:22:17 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

Amazing. I love helping people. I help people whenever I can. I feel like I'm blessed, so I like to bless other people.

02:22:24 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's beautiful. Thank you for doing that. Thank you for calling. Actually, in honor of you, since KP would not sing the Ave Maria, people don't understand my special talents that I have. I don't sing. I'm not very good at it, but I do have a talent of playing a musical instrument. And if you will bear with me for a second, I will play for you right now the Ave Maria, an acoustic version of it, okay? All right. All right, here we go. Hold on, let me get a zoom. It's really coming along.

02:23:25 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 1:

I was actually going to sing this time. I'm not. Save us. Save us, baby. There you go. Two hands.

02:23:44 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Oh, he's standing up. He's standing up. I'm really getting into it.

02:23:51 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 2:

Megan's face. Do you like it? I love it.

02:23:56 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thank you. Just see the vein coming out of his ear.

02:23:59 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 2:

Those are actually bleeding. They're bleeding. It's impressive.

02:24:09 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 1:

Dear Heavenly Father, please stop this.

02:24:12 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Where did you find this? Huh? Is the one called Crappy Flute?

02:24:17 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 3:

No, that's called My Flute. Don't make fun of me.

02:24:21 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

There's a YouTube account called, and I'm editing it.

02:24:25 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. We have a technical difficulty with our Toledo signal hair. We don't hear anything. I don't know exactly what you thought that. It's my favorite. Come on. Hold on. I can't hear her. I can't hear her.

02:24:36 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 2:

Whenever you're having a bad day, though, pull up that YouTube, and you'll just start giggling.

02:24:43 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show, Megan and the man spreader.

02:24:48 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. This drove me nuts yesterday. absolutely nuts uh i actually was very excited i got to go see dear evan hansen yesterday because it's in town

02:25:00 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 4:

see it. I love Dear Evan Hansen. What is Dear Evan Hansen? It's a musical. Oh. Yep. It's really, really, really good. Don't watch the movie. Go see it live instead. But I went to go see it and it was absolutely phenomenal. I will give you like a bit of a trigger warning when it comes to that show. It's very heavy material. It's like a very, it is pretty serious wouldn't you say oh gosh yeah it's pretty serious it's very heavy i think it's really important um but you're going into it going this is probably going to be an emotional roller coaster i wanted it to be that for me unfortunately it wasn't because the man next to me decided that it was it was his show and he was going to be as comfortable as possible and what i mean by that is that he decided to just spread out. Like, back in elementary school, we used to sing the song in gym class, and it would be, peanut butter jelly, spread out. And that's what this guy decided to do. His arms were, like, not crossed, but, like, almost on his hips in his seat. And then most normal people cross their legs in their chair because we're all just sitting politely. Not this guy. No, no, no. he put them as far apart from each other as he possibly could like his knees were both north and south pole and they needed to get away from each other and that meant that I had no room to sit in my seat now listen I'm a larger lady I understand that sometimes people take up more space this was not the case this was a skinny man skinny skinny skinny and he just wanted space to air out his balls and I was not here for him Pack your balls away. Nobody cares. Clench them up in your thighs. Goodbye. Give me my space back.

02:26:58 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when people do this, and it happens to a lot of people, I'm sure. You'll have to call us up and tell us where it's happened to you. When people do this thing, do you have the ability to be able to take your hand and push their legs to the side? No, but I thought- Or can you spread your thighs out to make them, you know? Does it become one of those things that you, what were the exercise devices you'd put in between your thighs?

02:27:24 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm pretty sure if I was wearing my Apple Watch, it would have said, are you doing a workout right now? Because the sweat that was dripping down my back to clench my knees together for an entire three-hour show. I should be on the Olympics because my body was aching afterwards.

02:27:39 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 3:

That's like airplanes too. Exactly. And people do that. And you're like, and I'm always sitting in the middle seat. if I'm traveling with somebody or else I try to get a window. But even then, like... Who gets the armrest? It's like, yeah, who gets the armrest and then you're just... People are spreading on both sides of you and you're trying to just be comfortable for an hour.

02:28:01 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 1:

And if you're at an event like Megan is where you want to enjoy yourself, how can you?

02:28:06 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

The problem, too, is when you're wearing shorts or a woman's wearing a dress and your actual skin is touching.

02:28:13 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 4:

Skin to skin, me touching.

02:28:16 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 5:

If it's someone you know, then it's fine. But if it's a stranger, it's oddly sexual. I don't know. You have to have your thigh up against somebody else's thigh.

02:28:24 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 1:

So yesterday I went to the Pistons press conference for the introduction of Monty Williams. And that pace was like packed. All of these chairs are literally so close to each other. It was tighter than an airport. And this lady, she was lady spreading, I guess, if you can say that. Yeah, but she was an older lady, so I didn't want to push her legs. I was like, okay, you can air it out.

02:28:46 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

That's good. You're good. Sometimes you lose bodily control at that point.

02:28:52 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so this is what I was going to say. And Mojo, I feel like, I don't know if you remember this, but when I go to my yoga classes, sometimes the classes are so packed that there are mats all around you, right? There are people all around you. And you're supposed to kind of be aware and stay in your space and on your mat, even when you're doing poses that, you know, cause you to like put your leg out or your arm out or whatever and it's the worst when not only you touch somebody but their sweat is dripping on you and your mat the the worst is too

02:29:23 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 2:

it's you know when you do the whole thing where you're supposed to like put your arms out and do your arms out and the person pokes you in the eye with we think but you're right the yoga is a prime example of that one and uh i remember at reina's classes at center for yoga it'd be so crowded in that place that you couldn't help but like be touching people and it would be very very weird when it was fletch that was next to me um what's going on bonnie how you doing hey how are you uh

02:29:53 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 4:

just to let you know i took my three-year-old granddaughter to see the little mermaid yesterday and there were three teenage girls sitting next to me and the girl next to me kept flailing her legs and then they ended up sitting on the floor in front of their seats watching the movie they were clearly like 15 16 years old and it was just really weird then they'd get up and the girl would hit me with their leg again if she got in her seat and where did you go what theater did

02:30:25 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 1:

you go to because that's why i love going to imagine so that i can have those really nice

02:30:29 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 4:

chairs oh it was really nice it was it was mjr at partridge creek they were big spacious chairs

02:30:37 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 1:

and it was definitely why are they still touching you at that point they shouldn't there should be

02:30:41 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 4:

enough room i don't know but my three-year-old granddaughter was more well behaved than any one

02:30:47 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 2:

i feel like i need to uh speaking of kids at events i need to apologize for my daughter who is nine years old but at the taylor swift show was probably in mojo's and megan's space that entire show jumping around and flailing and everything mike i gotta tell you what cecily did

02:31:03 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 6:

when she was here and it was so cute but also i almost choked um she was cutting up her friendship bracelets over my breakfast sandwich and i didn't realize that some of the string had gotten in the sandwich and i took a bite and i almost choked on a string and she was like hey do you have my string and i'm like yeah

02:31:23 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 1:

That's better if you pull it out of your mouth like a hair. Can you imagine all of a sudden a bead? You got a bead like that. What's up, Sarah? Hi.

02:31:33 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So, well, first of all, KP, that string is like the ultimate friendship if you got that stuck.

02:31:40 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 6:

Me and Seth, we go way back.

02:31:44 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 5:

So, the other thing I was going to say was for when Megan was talking about, you know, the man like spreading his legs and stuff nobody talks about when um the guy's leg hair is touching a female leg if it's not like your family member or significant other it's just weird it's like a little weird like having that like little tiny hair is just like touching your little lady legs

02:32:10 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 1:

like no thank you like oh yeah it's disgusting by the way meg did megan just say this because If she did, we got to pull this for a drop, Sarah. You'll have to go back and listen to the podcast of this. Somebody text in, did Megan really just say that she has trouble keeping her legs together?

02:32:27 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so has anybody fallen onto that side of TikTok where it's, I want margarita, I'm going to open my legs. Give me two margaritas.

02:32:35 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, yes, I 100% know what you're talking about.

02:32:38 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 3:

I got a damn margarita.

02:32:39 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 5:

I agree with that.

02:32:40 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:32:41 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 5:

Because your legs go different ways. Like, when you sit down, like, somebody might stay, like, closer together. Like, when you relax, they, like, you know, relax out.

02:32:53 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 1:

By the way, were you just doing it while you were telling us? While you were telling us. Did you spread the leg? Okay, all right.

02:32:58 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 5:

It sounded like she was actually doing it at that moment. Thank you for giving him the attitude that question deserved.

02:33:05 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. We got more technical problems here right now.

02:33:09 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 2:

One two in the morning's top trending stories.

02:33:12 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

All right, new trending news. And then we are out for the day. By the way, our daddy-daughter dance is a week from Friday. And if you haven't already, you can purchase VIP tickets for as little as $25 a piece. So you can hang with us in our VIP section and get dad something special for Father's Day. You can go check out all the details on MojoInTheMorning.com. So it's MojoInTheMorning.com. This story is a big one locally. Did you hear the story about the families that found box cutters in their kids' Happy Meals? It's a story from Detroit, WXYZ Channel 7. I actually have a story that involves this from way back when. Some of our longtime listeners of the show might remember, but we had the same thing happen to us. we had it happen at a different fast food place it was actually uh at taco bell and the wildest part about it was i remember when i brought it up on the air and talked about it the people didn't believe us like the taco bell people and the people didn't believe that it was the case and then we showed on our website the picture of the box cutter and it was a specific box cutter that only they had that only they sold the taco bell and then they finally did believe it and you know later you know listen nothing thank god happened to luke it was him as a baby but we were giving him taco bellies in the back seat of the car crazy and he opens up the bag pulls out and goes mom what's this and thought it was one of the toys and it was a box cutter and thank god it was not open but here's the story from channel seven when you pick up a happy meal for a child

02:35:00 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 4:

you're expecting a tasty treat and a toy. But in two recent incidents, parents say what their children pulled out were box cutters. Anything could have happened, and that's what's scary.

02:35:10 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 3:

This is what Dawn Parrott says her seven-year-old daughter found in her Happy Meal. It's bright yellow, but it's no toy. It's a box cutter. Parrott says it was found along with a pen inside a Happy Meal box her husband and the girls picked up Sunday afternoon at this McDonald's

02:35:26 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 4:

at 13 Mile Road in Shaner and Warren. She opened up the box looking for the toy and he was getting the two-year-old set up and she turned around looked at him and helped it out and said dad what

02:35:38 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 3:

is this? Dawn contacted Warren police they're now investigating and thankfully her children were not

02:35:43 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 4:

injured. I understand accidents happen it's just uh I need to know how and how this happened exactly.

02:35:50 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 3:

I was blown away. Kayla outmashed. She is stunned to hear about what happened because just three weeks ago, she says she was in the drive-thru at this McDonald's on West Grand River in Brighton when her daughter found a similar box cutter in her Happy Meal.

02:36:05 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 5:

And my baby, like she always says, Mama, will you open my toy? And so she went to give me the toy and when I grabbed it, it was a box cutter.

02:36:15 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 3:

Both moms say they immediately reported it to management.

02:36:18 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 4:

They basically just said that they have a catch-all box that's a Happy Meal box, and someone must have just accidentally grabbed it.

02:36:27 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted some type of explanation, but there was nothing that he could give me other than he said, do you want a free apple pie or cookie?

02:36:35 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, come on. That's what they were offering? A free apple pie or cookie. By the way, has anybody ever bought a cookie from McDonald's? No. Honestly. Yeah, it's pretty good. Really?

02:36:48 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. They're a little bit crispy on the edges, but they're always gooey in the middle. They're pretty good.

02:36:52 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

The apple pies are great, but the cookies, I mean, you know what? You give me a lifetime supply of French fries, I'm not going to Channel 7.

02:37:00 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 6:

You've got to eat the cookie right away. You can't let it sit and get hard.

02:37:03 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 2:

It'll start tasting like box cutters. Right. The explanation, though, is interesting about how they throw the box cutters in a Happy Meal box. That's kind of wild that they do that. That's probably not a great idea. Did you guys see that AI chatbots are arriving at the drive-thru restaurants as we speak right now? Some people have said that there might even be some in our area. White Castle, McDonald's, Wendy's, Dunkin', they have drive-thrus and they're experiencing mixed reviews with it. People say that they don't like the non-personal with a person, you know, taking your order. Others say that they've actually seen that the chatbots are not as effective, that they've had their orders screwed up. Or it cannot modify orders.

02:37:47 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, it was more accurate than the people who have been taking my orders lately.

02:37:52 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 2:

The interesting thing, though, is the non-modification. Because I hate when I go on to one of the, like, delivery services, like DoorDash is the one that we use. And I hate that you can't modify your stuff.

02:38:03 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 6:

I modified it with the AI. I said no ice in my drink, and it got no ice.

02:38:07 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 1:

And they did it? Yeah. So it's happened here in our building, too. We have robots for a front desk person and to let us let somebody into the studios. Wow. Yeah. It's like a computer screen and you have to check in and that's how you deliver packages or grab your tickets or it's like the secretary now. Wow.

02:38:25 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 2:

Listen to this. Microsoft says that doctors are using chat GPT to tell patients bad news. Good. Some medical professionals are even using it to deliver news like they have cancer, you need to have surgery, or the risks of not coming back to do an appointment. I think that's horrible. Good.

02:38:49 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 6:

They probably have better bedside manners than most of the doctors I see.

02:38:52 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 2:

You go to horrible doctors then. Because my doctors that I've gone to, I'd rather have Dr. Warner telling me, you know, although it does make it a long process. He's had a hard time to say goodbye to you sometimes.

02:39:02 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 6:

It takes usually on average about eight minutes.

02:39:04 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 2:

To get to say goodbye to Dr. Warner is so kind. But Megan, do you, okay, you're telling me that, that if you're, you know, grandma or whatever gets diagnosed with cancer, you want a chat GPT to write the script that the doctor

02:39:22 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 6:

is going to read? Yeah, I do. Well, because I don't think I, out of all of the bad information or bad news I've ever gotten from doctors it has been the most cold-hearted unempathetic made me feel worse information so if I tell a machine make this sound empathetic with the same information I'd rather have that oh see I need human to human interest read it to me like you're a human but learn learn some bedside manner from a machine listen

02:39:51 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

to this one too this is wild messages from your doctor may soon include emojis to engage more patients emojis could soon soon start

02:40:00 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 1:

popping up in medical communications like emails or letters from the doctors researchers found that people actually enjoy emojis so much and understand emojis even more than the written text so you actually may get your doctor like giving you smiley face or i agree with like you know i love

02:40:19 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 3:

i love the more emojis the better however sometimes if i'm reading text messages on my computer versus my phone and it doesn't recognize certain emojis and i just get those lines i'm gonna be like what does that what does that mean yeah what do i have is that good or is that bad my anxiety is going to

02:40:34 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 1:

be skyrocketing yeah that uh do you know what i'm talking about well and can you imagine by the way yeah if it's misinterpreted or if there's a mistake yeah somebody hits the wrong button um a survey shows why americans are getting tired of tipping this study from bank rate shows that two-thirds 66 percent have a negative view about tipping including 41 saying that they feel like businesses should pay their employees better rather than rely on tipping so much more than 30 percent of people are feeling annoyed by the pre-entered tip screens the ones that will tell you how much you can give and some say that it's gotten ridiculous with now some places saying up

02:41:18 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 3:

to 35 to 40 percent as a tip on the tip screen i saw that's nuts yeah and you know what so i kind of agree with that i do agree that these businesses should be paying their employees more just up front in general but i got i ordered online i ordered a new dog bed for my dog charlie yesterday okay from some stupid instagram ad let's hope i get this thing do you know when i was checking out again online it asked me if i wanted to tip the employees to help quote unquote make their day better oh i've had zero interaction yeah right i'm just filling in my information online I had no help from anybody, and it was asking me to tip them.

02:41:58 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 1:

They're going to start doing that. You watch these chat GPT things that Megan loves so much. They're going to start asking you if you want to tip on those, too. And you're going to be like, go screw yourself. DoorDash, what's that?

02:42:10 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 2:

Molly Moons is like an ice cream shot. And she did a news press where she was talking about paying her employees instead of tipping them. And not only did she get more business, but she could track what her employees were getting tipped. and uh if she found that if you were a person of color you got tipped last on average for like no reason and just how unbiased and or how biased and unfair tipping was in the industry was just

02:42:37 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 1:

crazy to me i will say this that uh if you just charge more because everybody's charging more right now and then take away the tipping and be known as the we're not going to do the tipping thing but we'll just give it back to our employees i will bet that that will be better for business

02:42:52 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:42:54 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 1:

DoorDasher delivers food, then steals the Amazon package on the front door. These stories always get to me. I love it. Delivering Taco Bell to a family in, I don't even know what town this is. Polk County, oh, this must be Georgia. So Polk County Jail, the person ended up getting arrested and put it in the Polk County Jail. The incident happened when they were delivering the Taco Bell through the DoorDash app. The driver, which was known as Salem, arrived at the person's house, placed the food on the doorstep, not realizing that they had cameras, and then took their Amazon packages that were just sitting there on the doorstep. A Grubhub delivery driver accused of stealing a woman's kitten. How about this one? Somebody stole the kitten. What's the kitten's name? Oh, they don't have the name. Oh, Schmug. The kitten's name is Schmug. So Amanda Skoogans ordered food from Grubhub Delivery Service, and then the food was dropped off at the house only to have her kitten missing. Spokesperson for Grubhub said they're following up on an investigation to the incident. They will terminate the driver because of this if there is proof that the driver stole smugs that was taken there. And finally, last but not least, would you guys like to fly in an airplane like this? Within 12 years, airline passengers will be gazing through moonroofs, looking at the sky while they're flying.

02:44:31 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that would be really cool.

02:44:32 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 1:

A new concept is to have a clear or glass top on the top of the airplane so that you can actually see what's out there and look up at the sky while you're there. This is interesting because on airplanes lately, I've noticed nobody wants to open up the city next to the window.

02:44:52 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 3:

It drives me crazy. And why is that? It's so depressing when the plane is just dark. It's so bright.

02:44:57 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 1:

I hate that.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Won't it get so hot in the plane, though?

02:45:00 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, but open your window. Anytime I'm in one of those Teslas that's all glass on the top, it gets so hot in there. I can't imagine an all glass plane how hot it would get. And we all know the 80s. It frees me anyway.

02:45:13 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 2:

What? I always have to bring an extra sweatshirt and a jacket on a flight, regardless of where I'm going, because it frees my ass off.

02:45:19 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 1:

You are wild. Wild. What are you talking about? Yeah, every single time.

02:45:26 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 8:

I don't know. I think, honestly, I think that it's nice to be able to see out And see what's going on But I agree with you That sometimes it gets A little too bright I just hate that That one person Has control over it Too bright

02:45:36 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 10:

From the guy That turns on every light In the studio every morning

02:45:39 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 8:

I can't see I can't read When you guys keep it so dark I mean, jeez It's like I've got bad eyes

02:45:46 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 5:

Every seat has an advantage And disadvantage And one of the advantages Is the window seat Is you can control the window

02:45:52 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 8:

Yeah Did you guys see By the way That Delta's changing up Their first class food now If you are lucky enough and can fly first class on Delta, they are now going to offer food to order on the plane. And they're going to give you higher class options. So they'll give you an opportunity to be able to have different things, including they're talking about appetizer services and dessert tray. They actually may bring a dessert cart out to you while you're on the plane. Another reason why the people that sit in that row just behind are going to get pissed off. I've snuck in first class before.

02:46:30 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 6:

Did you? Oh, yeah. And nobody caught you? No. My thought process was if I hurry up and go to sleep, no one will catch me. And it worked. And it worked so well. There's never empty seats, though, on those flights. How did you get to do that? Look, I walked in the plane, and I saw it was an empty window seat. And I told the guy, I was like, that's me. And he, like, was kind of looking at me. But he moved out the way, and I sat down. And on the way back, I was so confident that I got it right the first time. I said, I'm just going to do this. Wow. Went and sat down. I had some champagne They brought me Little hot towels It was a vibe

02:46:59 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 8:

I'm always the person That sits down in a seat And then I realize That I'm like One row different And it's like The same seat And the guy's like Ah that's my seat And he's not sitting Next to anybody specific But he won't You know Sit in the seat That was mine And let me sit Where I was Alright have a great day We will see you tomorrow War of the Roses day Tomorrow morning Also wake up bright and early Because we've got A couple shots For you to win Post Malone tickets Tickets to go to Lollapalooza in Chicago and Drake tickets tomorrow.
