let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to

00:02:36 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

00:02:38 - 00:02:43 | Unknown:

it's showtime

00:02:47 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 5:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. I have a question to ask you guys about Venmo etiquette or whatever, you know, you use, you know, whether it's Venmo or... Zelle, cash out. Yeah, stuff like that. So, here's two situations that have been bothering me over the last, I don't know, couple hours last night and then this morning. I picked up some food for a friend, and when I showed up at his house and we were eating, he said that he wanted to pay for his. And it came out to around $18. Actually, specifically, $18.33.

00:03:44 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:03:45 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 5:

And he said to me, he goes, how much is it? And I said to him, I go, I go, no, don't worry about it. And he goes, how much is it? I go, it's $18. Well, the receipt was there still, so he saw exactly how much it cost. I go there and look at my Venmo, and he Venmoed me $18.33.

00:04:05 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:04:06 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 5:

Now, I'm not a greedy person. You guys know this, right? Vouch for me on this one. Yes. You're a very generous human being. All right? But $0.33 kind of bothered me because I'll tell you why. If somebody does something for you, and specifically it's $18.33, Venmo me either $18, $19, or maybe be nice. Venmo me $20 just for my time, you know? Don't Venmo me the specifics of $18.33. So it kind of bothered me a little.

00:04:42 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 6:

So it's the .33 that's really getting you here.

00:04:45 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 5:

It kind of, first off, I'm one person that I do not like uneven numbers, okay? I'm kind of a little superstitious with that. And actually, if you look in my Venmo, now I have an uneven change amount in my Venmo. It drives me crazy.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

When you transfer that to your bank.

00:05:00 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

account. Oh, it's going to be awful. We have to do math. Um, so it does it all for you. Okay. I know, but, but all right. Another petty thing. It's the same guy too. I'm going to throw him under the bus one more time for something that he does. And I, and I promise you, or I promised Chelsea, I would not say this person's name because he gets very offended when I have talked about him before on the, uh, the show. So the other thing that he does that drives me crazy, What is the etiquette to if you're going out with a group of friends and somebody pays the bill but we're all chipping in and we're all going to Venmo or Cash App or whatever it is, the money. What is the etiquette to, if you're the person that is telling them how much money it is, how long should you wait after you guys were there with each other to send them the request for their money? Because this is the other thing that this guy does. We've actually been in the restaurant And I haven't even gotten the food Completely like in my mouth And all of a sudden I'll see the alert On my phone that I've got a request From him for the money for the food I mean Don't you think that at very least Like if I ever have this happen to me Usually what I will do is I'll say no And then I will never send them the request for the money Like I'll usually do that from time to time Depending on how much it is

00:06:27 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

If it's a ton of money I will never send a request.

00:06:31 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

If it's over like 50 bucks or something like that or $100, I'm definitely going to request. But I just remind them. Okay, so you just remind them.

00:06:37 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:06:38 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

And then you say, okay. I don't know.

00:06:39 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sending a request.

00:06:40 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 1:

This guy also, nameless guy who Chelsea told me I can't say his name. He also will do the request while I'm at the meal. And everybody at the table, like there's a group of all of us. This was probably three weeks ago. We're all sitting around. and we all looked at our phones going,

00:07:00 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

he just sent out, like... He wanted to remind you while it was top of mind.

00:07:04 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 1:

And I'm going to be honest with you guys on this. This guy's, you know, this guy does well, okay? He does okay. He doesn't need the, you know, he doesn't need that money right away. It's not like that money's going to keep him from being able to pay his bills.

00:07:20 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

You know why he does well? Yeah.

00:07:21 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Because he gets that $18.33 immediately. You're right. And doesn't do $19, right? instead of it yeah i mean am i out of line be honest just tell me if i'm out of line round up

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

but the fact that you're still thinking about this and i don't even know when it happened is

00:07:36 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

it drives you okay by the way i'm getting text messages from all the buddies of mine look at thank god you're talking about it say his name uh another one of our buddies uh uh buddy bill goes uh mojo just say just say his name tell everybody chelsea come on you'll be okay um and people want me to call him out. What do you think about this, Leo?

00:08:00 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 4:

Man, Mojo, you are actually correct. Thank you. I like that. You didn't say that so surprised. I don't think so. Thank you. There's etiquette to it, definitely. I work two jobs, and I do not have any time to go buy stuff when I need it. Have my buddy bring it to me, cash app him five extra bucks, and he's good. I got him five extra bucks.

00:08:24 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I get the tip part of it. Before I became a Costco member, my girlfriend Ashley would always go to Costco for me. So she would send me what the total was, and I would round up a couple bucks as a tip for her services. She went, she dropped it off at my house. I get that. But you didn't really do anything extra here. I picked up food. But you were picking it up anyway. I was drunk.

00:08:44 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that's what my buddy did. All right, that's fair. Let's say vape store or the food store, whatever you need, whatever I need, and I give it to them.

00:08:52 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I thought you were talking about this was already at a dinner table with a bunch of other buddies. No, no. But this is two different situations.

00:08:58 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't. I need them to go give me stuff.

00:09:00 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Listen, DoorDash would have charged the guy, you know, triple the amount to do that, right? What's up, Alyssa? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

00:09:10 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I just wanted to say that you definitely have to round up when someone's telling you what the cost is. because, I mean, it doesn't take into effect the tip that you're doing or if you tipped when you picked up the food. I've had this where it's happened at a bachelorette party and I told everyone what the price was. And the person who made the most money then deleased them out. And everyone else who made was in college still or were like teachers. They gave me way more than they needed to. But the person who made the most money was like super cheap about it.

00:09:48 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's always the person that makes the most money that's complaining about it the most. But a quick question for you. What is the amount that you should round up? So like a couple dollars, you know, do you ever go?

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

even more than that normally if it's something where it's like 18 like with this instance i would

00:10:05 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 2:

do at least 20 okay so i would do a couple blocks see you're a generous friend and what do you do

00:10:11 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

for a living i am an environmental scientist oh wow like environmental regulation type thing

00:10:17 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

oh wow we gotta you're not who we talked to yesterday are you during the five at 65 we got a lot of scientists listening to this show look at all these look at us smart people that are out

00:10:27 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 6:

there thank you for listening do you want me to venmo you two dollars so you feel better today

00:10:32 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

i because i feel like it would really change your mood i'm not i swear to you i'm not i'm not petty

00:10:37 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 6:

i really oh wow that 33 cents really got you good though i don't know it just came out of me but

00:10:44 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 1:

that was an accident you know i disagree with you mojo i feel like we you know when you have like we have cash or whatever you can give someone a 20 because you can't break it but it's venmo you can give them the exact amount of money nobody owes you money extra money agreed all right also from now on i'm rounding down

00:11:01 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

alec what's up hey guys how you doing good buddy what's going on

00:11:09 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 3:

mojo i gotta tell you man i would take your friends what my friends do if the bill's 1833 before i can send a request they'll just guess and guess what they're always short So both of them should send me a bill for $15 or a Venmo for $15 before I can get it out there.

00:11:28 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 2:

And you probably never ask them for the extra money, do you?

00:11:33 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah. When am I going to Venmo them for $2.50 on top of that? And sometimes I will if I'm feeling like it. But, you know, they jump the gun and they beat me to it. And they guess and they guess wrong.

00:11:44 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 2:

And the funny thing is they make it sound like they're really generous. Oh, my God. Thank you so much for picking this up. I hope that this is good. And they pretend like they're actually giving you more than what it was. And you're like, wait a second. You're like $3.40 shy here or something, right?

00:11:58 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Right. Because they get to be the good guy that send it first, right? Right.

00:12:03 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I pay all my bills. Tell them to try that with their car payment. Pay a little bit less and see, you know, what GM finance will do. Yeah, but same with the car payment. I'm not giving them that extra $0.68 or whatever. I'm paying, you know, the $33, $18, $33, and that's it. They ain't getting any more. Now I know that this is how you treat me. Thank you, Mike. All of you guys have turned your back on me. Shannon's the only one that agrees with me on this one.

00:12:29 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 6:

Well, did I?

00:12:31 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, kind of. It seemed like it. And, Michael, you don't agree with me either?

00:12:37 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 6:

Are you public on Venmo, by the way? Do you leave all your transactions public?

00:12:40 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so. Okay. Michael?

00:12:43 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 6:

No, I think it's weird that people do leave theirs public. I don't know. No, I love it. I don't want people to know, like, what I'm doing and where my money's going. What kind of sketchy stuff are you up to? None. What are you up to? But, like, it's just, I don't know. Why are you so worried? What are you doing? Hey, my babysitter.

00:13:01 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Michael, what do you think Shannon does on her Venmo that's sketchy that she doesn't want us all to see? Michael, listener, is that you?

00:13:09 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

I can't even imagine what she does.

00:13:11 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 6:

I just paid for Girl Scout supplies. I paid Wes for services I bet you did KP paid me $20 for breakfast the other day R.I.P

00:13:24 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 1:

Michael you wanted to disagree with me

00:13:29 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:

or I would pick you up just because everybody's agreed with me except for Megan and KP and everybody else

00:13:36 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 5:

I think we're half of it Did you hear me?

00:13:39 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I got you

00:13:40 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 5:

I think if we buy something together I should put exactly what the bill should be. If you go to a restaurant and the bill's $18.20, you're not going to give the guy $18.50. You're going to give him $18.20. So your friend's actually doing the exact right thing. Paying exactly what...

00:13:55 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 2:

See, that's wrong. When I go to a restaurant and the bill is whatever, $18.20, I always end up giving the person, if it says 20% tip, and if they put the tip on there and it says... We're not talking about tip. No, but if it says change, I always round up on that too. I don't want to give the person an uneven amount of money.

00:14:16 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 5:

Because it's going to look weird, and your bank account shouldn't affect the reality. The reality of the bill is $8.

00:14:22 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 2:

Are you the same guy, by the way, that leaves pennies on that little credit card?

00:14:28 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 5:

I don't deal with cash at all. I do everything digital these days.

00:14:31 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 2:

Everything digital.

00:14:32 - 00:14:32 | Unknown:

All right.

00:14:33 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 5:

But I tip, according to the question, what is about the bill?

00:14:36 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:14:37 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

I think $50.50 would be fair. I don't think he dripped you at all.

00:14:40 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

All right. You're not supposed to say that anymore, by the way. what the check your Venmo by the way oh my god hold on a second Shannon just paid me 33 cents

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 6:

and round

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

wait hold on a second I'm looking real quick

00:15:00 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

second. She got a couple. Wait a second. Paid seven. Wait a minute. I got it. Yeah. Megan just gave me 33 cents. Mike just gave me 33 cents. KP just gave me 33 cents. It's all adding up, Michael. It's all working. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. Our producer KP got busted and she was busted trying to set up her counterpart, her best buddy, her partner in crime, Lydia, who answers the phones here. What were you busted doing?

00:15:33 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm so ridiculous. I swear. So she had come to my birthday party and met a group of my friends. And there were a couple of guy friends in that group. One of the guys in particular thought Lydia was so cute. And I told Lydia, I'm like, hey, he kind of thinks you're cute. And she was like, oh, which one is it? Can I see a picture? So I went to his Instagram, and I tried to send her his Instagram so that she could snoop around. Well, this backfired. I was doing too many things at once. And I accidentally sent his picture to himself on Instagram. Oh, okay. And he texts me literally immediately. He's like, why'd you do that? What is that? What are you doing? Are you talking about me? Who's that supposed to go to? And I refused to throw Lydia under the... I mean, I'm doing it on radio right now, but I refused to directly tell him that Lydia forgot what he looked like.

00:16:34 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait a second. So, okay, so what does he think? Does he think that you're trying to set him up with another girl? He knows something's up. He does, okay.

00:16:43 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 2:

I partially lied and said, I'm just trying to set you up with a girl. And he's like, okay, well, who is it? And I'm like, I can't tell you. And he has not stopped asking me about it since. And I ended up giving in yesterday when we went out for drinks. And he got so excited because he saw that Lydia had followed him on Instagram.

00:17:05 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, is he cute?

00:17:07 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 2:

Did she get a picture from you finally? Oh, yeah.

00:17:12 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so she knows.

00:17:13 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 2:

I sent her the correct one right away. I just had to deal with that.

00:17:16 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 1:

Lydia is KP's guy friend. She's answering phones. Is KP's guy friend cute?

00:17:21 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's pretty good looking. Wait a second.

00:17:23 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 1:

Pretty good looking.

00:17:24 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. What happened to Gas Station Guy? Oh, he's still around.

00:17:29 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 1:

I think there's an expiration coming soon on Gas Station Guy.

00:17:32 - 00:17:40 | Speaker 2:

Are we putting an ultimatum up there? I'm going to have an update later this week. Okay. She's got a good topic coming. Wait, why? Why do you say that? I'm curious now.

00:17:40 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 1:

That's a tease. Let her tease.

00:17:42 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, I...

00:17:42 - 00:17:43 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:17:44 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 1:

She's got an update. She's got an update coming up on Gas Station Guy, which is Lydia's boyfriend. if you're new to the show.

00:17:49 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 2:

No, not boyfriend.

00:17:50 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 1:

Or her not boyfriend, yeah. For her friend that's a boy. He's just a gas station guy. All right, so go back to this guy.

00:17:56 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I'm in third grade.

00:17:58 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 1:

So go back to this guy. This has happened to me numerous times, not with setting people up, but it's happened to me numerous times where we're trying to refer to somebody and then sent the text to the wrong person, you know, referring to them, going, you know, I shouldn't have done that. But that's interesting with the picture thing. Oh, he's cute I think he wears shorts Wait, where's the picture? It's in a group chat Oh, you sent it to us, okay Are you sure you sent it to us and not him?

00:18:25 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 2:

He is so kind I love this guy, he's one of my best friends

00:18:29 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 1:

Dude, the guy's got a Rolex Look at that watch, that's a Rolex

00:18:33 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 2:

I love that you zoom in on it I love that the dudes are all like

00:18:36 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 1:

It's a Rolex watch, look at that, zoom in on it

00:18:41 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 2:

He's so cool, he was in the army and he's got his master's and he owns his own gym. Yeah, he's really cool.

00:18:49 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 1:

Why are you not dating him? You're single.

00:18:51 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 2:

Because I have a platonic relationship with him and I love him so much. So he's a really good friend.

00:18:56 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 1:

Is there nothing that's ever happened between the two of you guys?

00:19:00 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 2:

He took me out on a couple dates when we first started talking, but I immediately knew that I wanted him as a friend. Yeah, that's so fair. But I have a huge crush on one of his best friends.

00:19:11 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. So you guys can double date?

00:19:13 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, maybe.

00:19:13 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 1:

How cute is that?

00:19:14 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 2:

He's holding a pina colada in the photo, and it says, keeping the SPF close, and the pina colada's closer. He is such a girl sometimes. Now, maybe, is he a player? No, he's not a player. He's a hopeless romantic, I would say.

00:19:29 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 1:

It's funny, because he kind of looks like a player-ish. Yes, he does.

00:19:32 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 2:

He looks like a player. He could be a player if he wanted to. And you can date non-Keldean, yeah, Lydia? Oh, heck yeah.

00:19:38 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay. They call them white boys. That's what they call them in the Keldean. I'm dating a white boy. Which technically Well it could be a black boy You should not be able to get away with saying white boys It's not nice to us white boys I'm just now seeing the picture Skies out thighs out

00:19:52 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I know that's what I said He's a lifter too So he does physique shows too Lydia So he's very

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 1:

Wait, all right, that's right. He was good up until that. He has done it once to challenge himself. Douchebag.

00:20:09 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 3:

One point away from that, yeah.

00:20:11 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I was waiting for Megan to go, douchebag.

00:20:15 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 5:

I was going to hit that one right there. I'm trying not to be so disrespectful, but it was hard to keep that one in.

00:20:23 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I got a chance to see what country boy looked like. Megan's Country Boy yesterday in the social post that you posted of the audio of that. I saw him yesterday. Oh, yeah. I'm telling you, if this guy... I saw him, too. If Country Boy doesn't become a misfit on this show, I will be very angry. Oh, he's so cute. What's his name?

00:20:41 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 2:

Andrew. Andrew. Yeah.

00:20:42 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 4:

Andrew the Country Boy that Megan's going after. Why don't you guys...

00:20:47 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 5:

Look at her face. Clarify that. You're literally so freaking annoying. I want you guys to know that every time I tell Mojo not to do or say something, he does. And it is the most

00:20:57 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 4:

annoying thing in the entire world let's do this let's have a triple date between uh thigh guy country boy andrew and uh kp's mystery man what's up chelsea hey hey what's going on

00:21:15 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 1:

nothing so i back to the whole texting the wrong person i was with my sister and i went to text my mom how much she can talk with like an eye roll and i accidentally texted her oh no yeah yeah so

00:21:32 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 4:

a similar situation where you text the wrong person uh-oh yep how did that oh that was that was awkward trying to explain that one yeah didn't play well uh thank you for the call on the morning show so mike feels like he's being punked why is that and who is it that you think

00:21:49 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 3:

expunking you well so i moved into a newer neighborhood or a new neighborhood a couple years ago but i'm still still kind of new to it and a little background is i i've always lived in an apartment or just not like the greatest of neighborhoods so this is like a nicer neighborhood in hudsonville so this is all brand new stuff to me um and so when i moved in the first year the neighbor came up and they start talking to you or whatever and and i'm like how you doing you know your lawn looks great we start talking about random stuff and he's like yeah yeah thanks If you ever need to use my vacuum to vacuum your lawn, go ahead. And I went, okay, I see what's, and I don't know if neighborhood pranks, like if that's a rite of passage.

00:22:27 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 4:

Wait, stop for saying, if you want to use my vacuum to vacuum your lawn, who vacuums

00:22:35 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 3:

a lawn? I don't, so I thought he was messing with me. That's why I was like, all right, man, I see, like, I just kind of laughed and said, yeah, okay, okay. And then I assumed he was like, it's a rite of passage. They just mess with you when you, you know, it's a new guy in the neighborhood. Like, you're just pranking me. And he would give me a vacuum, and I would look stupid trying to vacuum my lawn. Have you ever seen him vacuuming his lawn, then? Mm-mm. No, but he offered it again the other day.

00:22:58 - 00:23:00 | Speaker 2:

What do you vacuum, like, leaves?

00:23:00 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea. I didn't know it was a thing. That's interesting that he would ask you if you want to borrow it, but you've never seen him use it.

00:23:09 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Uh-uh. I have no idea. Like, he was getting his stuff. I think I was unloading. the first year i was unloading my lawnmower and he's like if you need any help you know because there was like sticks and stuff because the guy who moved out before me just didn't take care of the lawn right away so i was going in and taking care of everything so he offered that right away and he offered some other things too but i thought he was messing with me until he did it again and then i still haven't seen him use any sort of vac like like a shop vac or anything i don't even know

00:23:36 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 4:

what you would use to vacuum your lawn shannon didn't you at one point have a neighbor that had like some weird thing that he would do vacuum it wasn't vacuum well he vacuumed his bed he still

00:23:47 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 2:

does this and he's not a neighbor it's somebody that i know and i will not say his name it he he vacuums his bed sheets every single night before he gets into bed oh okay oh i thought it

00:23:55 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 4:

was i'm sorry i thought it was somebody that did something with their lawn that you actually

00:23:58 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

visually saw no i mean i'm trying to think if there's another story no so so this guy actually vacuums his bed sheets so i'm trying to think about this mike because i have that little mini leaf blower um that i use but really now smith has you know laid claim on it and it came it has a vacuum function on it um or i can like reverse it do you know what i mean and there's a bag that comes with it but i even that i'm like what do i use this for yeah you vacuum up trash out of the

00:24:27 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

i don't yeah i don't know i watch uh you know people who are very good with their lawns We have a very good friend of ours, Steve, who is amazing with his lawn. Like, his lawn is cleaner than my living room is. Like, it's so perfectly manicured. It looks like the grass at Comerica Park where the Tigers play. But I think he just goes through and cuts it but bags it. Like, he bags it in his lawnmower. What's up, Jake?

00:25:00 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, my parents' neighbor does that in their neighborhood. It's been a few years since I've seen her do it. But, yeah, I was coming home from high school, and she was just out there with a vacuum, like straight up.

00:25:10 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 6:

So, actual vacuum?

00:25:12 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I'm looking this up. You can buy one at Lowe's, Home Depot, like if this is an actual thing.

00:25:18 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, this is just like a shop vac, though. Not even like a vacuum vacuum. Right. Not even special, just like a shop vac. It was just like plain Jane, just a vacuum.

00:25:26 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I mean, that's kind of what these look like?

00:25:29 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it was wild. How good does her lawn look?

00:25:32 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 5:

It looks like any other lawn.

00:25:35 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 7:

Really? So you can't even tell that it's been vacuumed?

00:25:38 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 5:

No, no idea.

00:25:40 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 7:

Spends all the time doing it?

00:25:42 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I have no idea.

00:25:43 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. What's going on, Frank?

00:25:47 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how you doing, guys? Long-time listener, first-time caller.

00:25:51 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Frank.

00:25:53 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi. I think what the gentleman is talking about is a blower vac. You can either blow the leaves or vac them up, and they'll mulch your leaves so you can make it easier to put them in a bag. I think that's what he's talking about.

00:26:09 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 7:

So when you say gentleman, you're talking about Mike because he's no gentleman and a scholar.

00:26:15 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm not going to make a comment on that. He seems to be a pretty great guy. But, no, I'm talking about his neighbor.

00:26:20 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:26:21 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 2:

I can't see him out there with a Hoover vacuum trying to vacuum up his lawn. That would be ridiculous.

00:26:27 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. He was messing with me. It's a real thing. Yeah.

00:26:33 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 2:

It quite possibly could be a real thing, but I know him to be a vacuum blower vac, which is like, you know, sometimes they have the backpacks, so they'll have little blowers. You can either blow the leaves or you can mulch them up. It'll suck the leaves up into the same blower, and it'll reduce the amount of leaves that you have to put into a bag.

00:26:56 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 7:

Thank you, Frank, for listening. Take care of yourself.

00:26:59 - 00:27:07 | Speaker 3:

I feel comforted by the leaves. Thank you. I appreciate it, Mojo. I want to get your number and ask you questions when I need advice.

00:27:08 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 7:

Miles, what's up? Hey, how you doing? Good. What's going on?

00:27:13 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 4:

There actually is a vacuum. It goes on, like, right on lawnmowers. So after you, you know, you're mowing everything up and it makes your pile, it goes through and it sucks it up. It puts it in a big container and then you go and dump it in like a mulch pile.

00:27:25 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, so maybe Mike's neighbor has been doing it, but Mike thinks he's just cutting his grass, but he's actually picking it up.

00:27:31 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's picking it up so it doesn't leave, you know, like the grass lines and whatnot. Yep.

00:27:35 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 7:

Very cool.

00:27:36 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 6:

That's why his lawn looks great and mine looks like crap.

00:27:39 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 7:

That's the thing, you know. Is this bad to say if you go out on a vacation, like you're going away for a week, right? is it you know i know you have people that will watch your house is it bad to ask a neighbor to cut your lawn has anybody ever done that before like where you've said all right i'm you know we're going away on a summer family vacation mike's going away is there somebody by the way that you know could you imagine mike you should ask that guy i would 100 he asked me to watch his

00:28:06 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 6:

house uh like two months ago and i had no idea what i was doing i had no idea what what the rules are on that i saw somebody pull into his driveway and i'm like do i call the cops do i call him what do i do i have no idea this is all brand new info or brand new stuff to me did you go

00:28:21 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 7:

outside and like pretend like you're like neighborhood watch or paul blart malt cop or

00:28:26 - 00:28:39 | Speaker 6:

something or i walked to the uh the mailbox and i just kind of looked it just kind of peeked over i think it was his kids and i think they were just getting something out of the garage at least i hope otherwise he was robbed and i have no idea you seem like you'd be the person that would be

00:28:39 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 7:

bad to have watch in the house because you're, I don't know, you're very good at some things, but some things you kind of like, you know, kind of like

00:28:49 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 3:

pass you by a little bit. You second guess yourself a lot.

00:28:51 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Alright, that's fair. I mean, I don't know. So, did you go and like walk through, do house walkthroughs or anything like that? Did he give you the key to the house

00:29:01 - 00:29:11 | Speaker 6:

to go in? No, he just said, hey, if you see anything weird, just let me know. Again, I'm new to the neighborhood, so I think he gave me a little bit of a little bit he trusted me a little bit but i don't think he fully trusted

00:29:11 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 7:

me what if he was testing you he could have been testing to make sure that you were uh doing a good job by having people come and drive through the driveway then i failed miserably because i never

00:29:21 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 6:

called anybody i didn't say anything to him i think i assumed it was his kids i've seen the car before after that but at the time i didn't know who it was so it probably uh it could have

00:29:30 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 1:

been something bad i wouldn't have known mike's mojo in the morning you know the only real man on this show he can throw a football change a tire and light a campfire this is mojo in the

00:29:40 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 7:

morning so shannon who is the he and the he's a picky eater uh it is a guy that my girlfriend

00:29:49 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

has recently started dating and i'm not gonna call him out by name but you know who you are um and we we did not mean to crash their date but a bunch of the girls were

00:30:00 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 1:

out and just happened to be at the same place that they were on a date so we sat down and had a drink with them um and then that drink turned on turned into us really crashing their date and having dinner with them this guy by the way they loved or hated but they invited us to stay to be fair okay um and so i the the the menus were there and so we're all like talking about what you know what we're gonna order um this guy liked nothing on the menu nothing and we were not in like a you know there are some restaurants out there that the menu is like a little funky and things are strange this is like a bar food okay type of restaurant like stuff that was like burgers and salads and things like that very very normal food yeah and so he was like i don't i don't really see anything on here that i could eat and i'm like there are like 10 000 things on this menu that i would order you know um and so when the time came for us to order he ended up ordering he asked the server if he could have plain chicken and rice that was all that he could find to eat i'm like you are pickier than my kids like my kids eat chicken nuggets grilled cheese pizza and candy that's their palate right now and i felt like this grown man was a pickier Eater than my kids and by the way No he was not on a diet before you ask Because I know a lot of people ask and no he Was not like training for Anything you know where you have to watch what you're eating He is just notoriously And he admitted it and no he wasn't a Food allergy situation too he admitted He is just a very very picky eater he Only likes bland foods can I back

00:31:39 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 2:

Can I back this up just a little bit for one second Yeah because we're all sitting on the couch together Remember yeah we're all We're all couch talking This week here on the show like all those girls Why the hell are you and your friends Interrupting a friend's date Because that to me Would be pressure How long has your friend been dating this person

00:32:01 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 1:

Not very long A couple weeks

00:32:04 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 2:

That would completely give me anxiety as a guy If all of a sudden The girl that I was on a date with Her friends randomly show up And by the way

00:32:13 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 1:

He does not believe it

00:32:16 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 2:

He probably thinks that she conspired

00:32:18 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 1:

to have you guys show up like this which we didn't but and then they you know waved us over

00:32:21 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 2:

to the table and we sat down and and secondly for this guy not to stick up for this guy because you know well sounds like it no this guy you can't be picky eater on a date like you truly cannot do that like and this goes for for girls too when they're going on dates you can't go on a date like i've i have seen sometimes where i've got friends of mine that are like the pickiest eaters in the world and they're like i would like to have this minus this substitute this right can i have this on the side can i do this and this and this you can't do that when you're on a date when you're on a date you do that you look so high maintenance no matter if you're a guy or a girl and then if you're as picky of an eater as this guy is you're like man does anything make this

00:33:06 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 1:

guy happy and i have to say this too i i really do like this guy a ton and i said to him after he placed his order i just kept staring i go i just want to let you know that's what i feed my dog when he's sick boiled chicken and rice that's what you just ordered for dinner if charlie has an upset tummy i was like do you like pizza yeah and he's like i like pizza but i don't like anything on it i'm like okay that's i'm like just cheese pizza he's like no like like truly like nothing on it i'm like so bread and sauce like just a very very picky eater that's fine that is an acceptable meal and I don't want to hear anything

00:33:44 - 00:33:48 | Speaker 2:

different. I, by the way, I thought that... It's just funny to me that

00:33:48 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 1:

adults can be that picky, right? We expect

00:33:50 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 2:

it from kids. I thought my friends who are vegans were the most annoying people to go out to eat with. It's the guy that's the picky eater guy that's the more annoying

00:33:58 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 1:

person. Why would the vegans annoy you?

00:34:00 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 2:

I have some friends, Chelsea and I do, that they'll go... It's actually one friend. And she will go out and she is so freaking crazed about it. She ask questions about where it's made what it's made in and all that stuff and I get okay food allergies are one thing totally understand

00:34:20 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 1:

oh for sure but when you're

00:34:22 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 2:

a vegan and in her cases specifically she's not doing it because of any health any reasons of if she eats something that gets touched by it she's gonna like all of a sudden get really really sick she's doing it because she chooses to do that I'm just I'm just throwing it out there and she doesn't like what i wear too sometimes like she'll actually complain about the things

00:34:44 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 1:

i wear i like her they're not vegan what's up kenny hi hi i think land food is the best food

00:34:53 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

kenny are you the one that was on the date with shannon's friend he's not no i was not what do you usually

00:35:00 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

order if you're out um chicken nuggets and fries pretty much um i don't really like anything

00:35:07 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 4:

if you went on a date and ordered chicken nuggets and fries honestly i'd be like i like him but if that's all you ordered every single time we went out i would get a little nervous

00:35:19 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 3:

if i get like burgers i i only put ketchup on i hate everything else my girlfriend she thinks It's funny. She laughs about it. And same with my dad. He's the same way.

00:35:31 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 4:

By the way, chicken nuggets and fries and burgers on this menu.

00:35:35 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't eat those. He wasn't into it. Honest to God, I was just blown away. Christy, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:35:43 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, Mojo. First things first, I found my purse, you guys. Oh, this is Christy from earlier. Wait, you were like one of our first callers of the morning. Yeah, I didn't go to sleep. I was looking for the freaking purse all morning.

00:35:59 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 1:

Where was it?

00:36:00 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 7:

I found it. It was under the passenger seat in my fiance's car. Oh, good. I'm happy you found it. Yes. Yes, I'm happy I found it with 20 minutes to spare. But you guys were talking about being picky eaters, and my Starbucks order is always a little complicated. What is your order? uh iced caramel macchiato upside down extra shot of espresso light caramel jizzle in a venti cup

00:36:28 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 1:

with extra ice oh my gosh okay they love you i hopefully you app order that you don't have to

00:36:35 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 7:

verbally say that all the time yeah they know my order by now and they know what time i order it And, yeah, it's called Chrissy's Crack Coffee.

00:36:46 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 1:

Elizabeth, what's up?

00:36:48 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I was just calling in because literally my family and friends all make fun of me. I'm 26 years old, and I don't like any condiments or toppings like ranch, barbecue sauce, cream cheese, sour cream. Anything like that is a no for me.

00:37:05 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 1:

If you go on a date, do you act that picky?

00:37:07 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 6:

um yeah i'll order stuff and ask for things off of it or usually i just go with chicken tenders

00:37:14 - 00:37:23 | Speaker 1:

and french fries i don't have to embarrass myself but but again like that guy that called us up that did that if you order that on a date you look like a child no i'm good with it i know chicken

00:37:23 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 6:

fingers and fries is fine yeah it just no my fiance says i'm a child i mean not every restaurant that

00:37:30 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

you're going to go to on a date is going to have chicken you know tenders and fries uh jet what's

00:37:35 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 2:

up good morning how's it going good morning we're good what's going on well when i was a kid i'm still i'm a kid i'm 17 but when i was younger i would only eat chicken tenders and fries so when we would go to like other family friends house my parents would have to we'd have to take out like chicken tenders and stuff and bring it and i'm still i still eat like that i don't think

00:37:55 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 1:

there's a problem to just eat bland here's the deal you can do that because you're 17 in about three or four more years when you get like in your 20s you start doing that and girls are going to look at you like you're a child yeah but still it's about food it is very good food don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with it but you order that like when you're going out for your birthday to McDonald's or something that's true that's not like a date night with a girl that you're hoping to get naked Naked with later.

00:38:30 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 2:

I want it to be vendors now, but I want it picky. I'm a picky eater still, even if I'm at a, not like McDonald's. I don't want a bunch of food with condiments. It's better to be bland.

00:38:42 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay. You don't even, wait, you don't even use any of the dipping sauces at McDonald's for their nuggets? No. No, thanks. Oh, my God. Best barbecue sauce in the world.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 2:

That's what all my friends say, but I have a little bit.

00:38:53 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 1:

And the sweet and sour is good, too.

00:38:55 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

Hot mustard. Honey ever? Hot mustard.

00:38:58 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, honey. Honey. You know, honey's good, too. I love honey on chicken nuggets.

00:39:02 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 4:

That muster sounds good. I haven't tried it.

00:39:03 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 1:

It's so good. Hi, Rashida.

00:39:06 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on? Good morning. Nothing much. What's going on? Now, see, I used it to my advantage. Well, actually, I didn't even know I was using it to my advantage. I actually met my most recent boyfriend that way. He heard me ordering my food, and I was very specific because I know what I like and don't like. And then at the end of the restaurant experience, he came over to my table and actually paid for my food. And told me that, you know, I love the way you ordered your food. That was sexy.

00:39:33 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

Really? Give us an example. Let's hear your order. I want to hear how sexy it is.

00:39:39 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 5:

No, so, you know, they were asking me at the breakfast restaurant, what would you like? And I said, you know, I would like the truffle chicken hash, but I would like that without the tomatoes, add aioli and arugula.

00:39:54 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 1:

That is kind of sexy.

00:39:56 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 5:

That was amazing. Where was that? I don't know.

00:39:58 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

You turned that in. Ha!

00:40:00 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't happen at Leo's Coney Island, right?

00:40:02 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 4:

Where were you? It wasn't. I was at first watch.

00:40:06 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's sexy.

00:40:07 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 4:

I door dashed from them.

00:40:09 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Seriously.

00:40:10 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 4:

Uh-huh. See?

00:40:11 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

What are you wearing when you're ordering that, too? Mojo in the morning. so i want to run this by you guys but i know mike uh you're the only guy that can uh tell me if this is just a guy thing or a uh a girl thing or not so i was talking with uh some uh friends and we were going and having a discussion about secret bank accounts. There was a story that I think I saw in our prep that day. We get this prep page that's sent to us by some service. I don't even know who it is, and I don't even know if we pay for the thing. And the thing said, it talked about how many people have secret bank accounts, So people that actually will hide from their spouse, you know, their husband or their wife, a secret bank account. And so we got into this discussion talking about, you know, what would you do if you found out that your wife or in a couple of guys' cases, the girlfriend had a secret bank account. And the conversation was, you know, oh, well, I'd be kind of pissed. I'd wonder what she was doing. Like everybody was doing this. And then I said, well, what would you do if you found out that your wife or girlfriend had a secret sex toy? Completely on the opposite end.

00:42:23 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 4:

Whoa, sorry. Okay? I wasn't anticipating this being the turn we took, but here we are.

00:42:29 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm the best at coming up with surveys, by the way. This is a good survey.

00:42:32 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:42:33 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 2:

And every one of these guys went from the whole secret bank account thing, oh, I'd be a little concerned. And I'd be like, hey, it was a secret sex toy. Oh, what is she? Why did she keep that from me? Everybody was kind of like, the guys were like, I can't believe she. That was a bigger difference. Why would she not tell me that she's got a sex toy? Like, we could use it, you know, all this stuff. Like, everybody kept, all these guys kept doing it.

00:42:55 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 4:

Or is it more like, am I not doing a good enough job? Why does she have that?

00:42:59 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, a couple of the guys got into that, too.

00:43:01 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 4:

It's not getting the job done. But the answer is yes.

00:43:04 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, it's not necessarily KP. Do not say this, because Chelsea has a sex toy. But I don't want it to be that she can't get the job done. But you know about it. It's that you deserve to be able to have fun with yourself.

00:43:15 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 1:

We all know that after you do the deed, you go home, you do it yourself.

00:43:19 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, all right. I don't know what I'm talking about here. But what if you're in the home with the person? So here's the thing. I thought that the reactions of these guys was so vastly strange that more guys, more of my guy friends. Now, mind you, I think there were six of us. More of the guys were upset that their girl would have a secret sex toy than have a secret bank account. So I want to kind of just throw this out there. What would you be more upset about? What would you be more upset about? And this could be for women, too. I don't know if guys, do guys really have sex toys? I guess they might have a pocket pee, right? Yeah, there's a couple different things you could have. Yeah.

00:43:59 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 4:

But also, you use that. You go have you time. I'd like to watch my show. You go have fun.

00:44:05 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

Actually, women are probably happy that you have a sex toy, right?

00:44:10 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm busy. I have a headache. I'm tired. It's been a long day. I've got things to do. You go have fun.

00:44:16 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like take care of yourself and do it yourself. What would you be more upset about? That your spouse, Mike, what would you be more upset about? That Allie had a secret bank account or she had a secret sex toy that you didn't know about?

00:44:28 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

That's so tough because what are you doing with the secret? What are your plans with the secret bank account? That's my thing. That initially upsets me The sex toy, maybe Only because I don't feel like we would hide anything like that So if she is hiding something like that Then there's a bigger issue

00:44:44 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it depends on what kind of toy it is too Because if it's like a pump or something You're obviously using that on someone that's not your significant other Wait, well, that's

00:44:56 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, now, yeah If the sex toy is a sex toy that you're

00:45:00 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 1:

have to use with somebody else then i'm thinking they're cheating on me that's a whole different

00:45:03 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

thing yeah but see i'm with mike in that the money thing is actually scary to me because like that's so shady what are you doing with that money well what if it was like a vacation what's it funding what if it was okay we're thinking way too optimistically for this topic yeah oh oh i'm sorry me i know it's actually i yeah excuse me i can't i can't believe it Morgan Dunn just came out of my mouth. Shannon just called me too positive on something. I don't know. The bank account is, that would worry me more. But again, I'm a girl, and I think that this topic is definitely geared more towards asking the dudes what they would think.

00:45:44 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 2:

It does hurt to pride a little bit with the toy, with the sex toy, a little bit. But only because she felt like she had to hide it. Not that she's using it. I don't care, because I don't know about that. But if she had to hide it, there's a reason she had to hide it.

00:45:58 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Let me go to the phone lines here. It's the secret of secrets. The sex toy or bank account? Kathy? It's a bank account. Yeah, because you're a woman, and women don't want their finances touched by anybody, do they? Right?

00:46:22 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 3:

Are you speaking from personal experience here? Yeah, it was a personal experience. he had a secret bank account and blindsided me with a divorce oh okay yeah oh boy so uh quick

00:46:34 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 1:

question uh for you on your the secret uh bank account how much money did he pull out before you realized what was going on $3,500 okay so enough money that it's noticeable did he use that to go

00:46:54 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 3:

get a lawyer is that what he was doing with that money i believe it was the file to file okay yeah

00:47:00 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 1:

so he was using as a retainer to put down for uh somebody um yeah and how did you figure it out did you just go through bank records or what did you do it's kind of complicated uh too complicated or too dirty to talk about.

00:47:19 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 2:

It's personal, actually.

00:47:20 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay, I get it. All right. Is there a sex toy that would make you upset, though, if a guy was going to go out and buy the thing? Like, if he bought a doll, like a sex doll.

00:47:30 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so to KP's point, when we were at Lover's Lane that one time giving the listener, what was that for, Valentine's Day, right? And we all, like, helped her on her shopping spree. There's some stuff in there that is, like you said, dolls. there are um remember that big two thousand dollar unicorn thing i don't even know what that was do you know what i'm talking about what was it the horn on the front of it no yeah you didn't

00:47:54 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 4:

you like i remember that like oh could you forget that thing what are we allowed to say names i didn't say a name are we allowed to is what i'm asking oh i think you can say the names of the

00:48:04 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 3:

things yeah it's a brand are you talking about the sibians okay yes okay yeah like if you're If you're keeping that a secret, and, like, that, I... No, that's... Why? If you're keeping it a secret... Why not? Why not just, like, bring it into the relationship then? Well, because it's a solo thing. Because that means then you... No, but that means... Yeah, I see what you mean.

00:48:26 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but there's no reason to hide it. Like, I don't mind solo stuff, but there's no reason to hide it at all, ever.

00:48:31 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 4:

I think you guys underestimate some guys' reactions to finding your stuff. And, like, some guys hate it. So I understand it.

00:48:38 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 3:

Trust me, I know that from past relationships. I've been in relationships with guys who were not comfortable with any sort of sex toy being involved in the relationship.

00:48:48 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 4:

I don't think any of my exes have ever seen my collection. I don't think any of them have seen or, yeah, would know what's in it. Do you have one of those unicorn things? They're very expensive.

00:49:04 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what if you got a secret bank account for the unicorn?

00:49:08 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you, research was done, and then I went, in this economy? We'll save up for her.

00:49:16 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's when you know that the economy is bad. When people are, like, going to the, we went to Lovers Lane, and I asked them, I said, has the economy affected you guys? And they said, no, when the economy's bad, more people come out and buy stuff like that. Because they're more worried about taking care of themselves than they don't want to go on.

00:49:35 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I'll get the $100 things, not the $1,400 things. That's what it was. I think it was like $1,800. No, it was $1,800, wasn't it? They're very, very expensive.

00:49:44 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:49:44 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 4:

No, she didn't.

00:49:45 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 1:

A couple of text numbers here. A couple guys. It looks like 419. I'm a guy. I definitely would wonder why she wouldn't tell me that she had a sex toy. I would be completely fine if she had it. Another one here says the bank account because if she's. taking money out of our account and putting it somewhere else. I'm wondering what she's spending it on. Is she going to leave me? And then all the women who are commenting are all saying that the secret bank account is by far the more scandalous thing. Because I think that the thing is, I don't think guys have sex toys. Like, I don't think that's a... I really don't know a lot of... I do. You do? Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you have? You've never shared with us about this. I got a ring.

00:50:29 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 2:

Like a little, I can't say it, but you know what that is. Yeah. I've had before one of those fleshlights, which is the pocket, basically. But I've had one of those. That was pre-Ally. And then like lotions and stuff. Okay.

00:50:44 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we need to take this to the podcast tomorrow. All right. Let's do it. Let's talk about that. That's a good topic for everybody.

00:50:50 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 3:

That's a good topic. And the bed straps.

00:50:51 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

Can't forget those. Oh, yeah. Yeah. We got the handcuffs and all kinds of stuff.

00:50:54 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do you keep those things connected all the time to the bed, or do you guys have to take those off?

00:51:01 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 2:

So they used to be, and then the cat started playing with it, and then the kid saw the straps things. And so Cecily was like, oh, what's this? She thought it was like a strap to the bed or whatever. And I'm like, oh, nothing, nothing. So we've had to get rid of that. Megan. Megan.

00:51:18 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

Mega hand.

00:51:19 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 1:

Mega hand. People do not say that.

00:51:22 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you wouldn't believe how many doctor's offices I go to. If you don't know, my name is Megan, but it's spelled really weird. And I get Megan? Megan?

00:51:34 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I do that all the time. Jen and you've witnessed this numerous times at things where I'll get up on stage. Oh, my God. At stage and stuff. It's so bad. It's so bad. Oh, and the listeners hear these poor people. Is your name Bianca? No, it's Bianca.

00:51:52 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 3:

You just try to make them all a little fancier than they're supposed to be. I honestly don't even care what you call me as long as it's not Meg.

00:52:01 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 1:

Here's what I want to ask a question about with you. You say that you are not a nosy person.

00:52:10 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 3:

Well, do I really say that?

00:52:11 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, you don't. She's never said that. Who said that ever?

00:52:14 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:52:14 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Actually, nobody said it. I just said it a second ago, but I meant it for somebody else. Trying to suck into this topic. But Megan says she misses living in an apartment. Truly. After going to visit her dad at his apartment and what, putting your ear up to the wall to hear the neighbors next door?

00:52:34 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 3:

So my dad keeps asking me why I'm stopping by so often. And I have to keep reassuring him it's not because I enjoy his company. It's only because his refrigerator is usually stocked. He's got a nicer bathroom than the one here at the station. if you didn't know, my dad's apartment is two blocks from where I work. So I'll go use his bathroom and leave literally because I am a terrible daughter. And he also loves me so much that he stacks up his fridge with all of my favorite things. So I stop by, I'll grab an Arizona tea and I'll go see you later. But now I've noticed that I go there more often because I am feeling like I'm lacking on a big element of my life and that's eavesdropping on other people's conversations. So I was going to my dad's apartment. He lives in like the end of his building. So when you get off the elevators, you have to like kind of walk a little bit to get to his place. And I never realized how thin the doors were until I started hearing people working from home. And let me tell you, the drama is immaculate. And a lot of you businesses with people working from home should know that i hear a lot of the gossip going on in the hallways and this guy had clearly been thrown under the bus by one of his co-workers you ever do that thing where you're like bitching about a co-worker but they're not like with you and you're having a full fight or conversation with them and they're not even there and i forget what this woman's name i think her name was like barb or something but it was like listen barb if you don't cc me on one more and he was just going off, and I found myself slowing my pace so that I could hear more of his

00:54:09 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 1:

conversation. Where are you standing? Are you in your dad's apartment, or are you outside in the hallway by the doors? I'm outside in the hallway. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. By the way, do you ever worry when that happens? Because I've done that before in, like, hotels. I always worry that the person's looking out of the peephole are gonna be looking out of the peephole.

00:54:25 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 3:

I do look out of the peephole a lot, but he is at the end of his hallway, so I really only see Rick, who lives across the hall. Okay.

00:54:31 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 2:

You just pretend like you're tying your shoe or something Like you just pretend like you're doing something So if they do look at the people Then it's like oh he's just tying his shoe

00:54:39 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

So my brother and I got caught doing this the other day Because we heard a couple fighting And we were walking slow And then all of a sudden their door opened up And we were just staring at them It was very awkward I will tell you this

00:54:52 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

You don't just need apartment living for this one Because I've had a couple of neighbors That you can tell when things were not great in the house When you'd hear them yelling you know

00:55:00 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Because you could hear them yelling.

00:55:01 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 3:

They have their window open or whatever.

00:55:03 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 2:

Or they're in the garage getting out of the car.

00:55:05 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes. You'd hear the conversation. It's like, shh, shh, shh. What are they talking about? Okay, so here's the question on this one. What did you overhear your neighbors doing? And I'm not talking like sex and stuff because we already talk about sex enough.

00:55:20 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 2:

We do?

00:55:21 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 3:

Can you believe I just said that? This day will never happen again. Megan's not nosy. Mojo doesn't want to hear about sex. Oh, my goodness.

00:55:29 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 2:

You did call me too positive yesterday. Oh, my God.

00:55:32 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

What is happening? But I want to know, like, what did you overhear when you were just being nosy? Like, you're nosy listening to your neighbors? Because, Megan, I don't think you're alone on this one. I know that there are many of our listeners that-

00:55:48 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 2:

We're all human beings. We're curious.

00:55:50 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 3:

Don't you want to know if the guy that complains about your leaves on his yard- Oh, it's a girl. Oh, it's a girl? Oh, I thought it was an old man that did that.

00:56:00 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 2:

Marty. No, Marty. It's a girl.

00:56:02 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 3:

Don't you want to know if she's got some kind of twisted side to her? Because she's already twisted enough about how much she gets freaked out about leaves.

00:56:08 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm good not knowing. I don't know.

00:56:10 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm very nervous. I would want to know. Do you have any neighbors, though, this is for all of you guys. Do you have any neighbors that you are convinced there's some illegal activity happening? Okay. Because there's a neighbor that lives across the street from us and a couple doors down. And I hope they're listening. because I'm calling you out. I have no idea who these people are. There's numerous cars in the driveway. I see a guy leaving when I'm leaving at like three 45 or four o'clock sometimes in the morning. And I'm telling you there's something shady going on there. Yeah. Well, when I, before

00:56:46 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 2:

I moved, I lived in my old house. This was like six, seven years ago. There was a person who lived right on the corner of my street who, I don't know if it was the wife or the husband, but somebody was being tailed by a private investigator. And it was so obvious to me because of the times that we come and go are very odd times. And so I would see them like getting situated into place. It was always the same car. I don't even know how the whomever was being trailed didn't know, but it was noticeable that something was going on there.

00:57:19 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, Texas 95500. Lydia, you say you dialed this person up because 734 says, I bought binoculars to watch my neighbors across the way. I am so nosy.

00:57:33 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 2:

We have binoculars at my dad's apartment.

00:57:36 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Who are you?

00:57:36 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:57:37 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 3:

Come on. You've got to tell us what's the reasoning. You had to have a reason why you bought binoculars.

00:57:44 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 2:

You know who we need to call our radio friend, Kramer, because he does radio in Baltimore, and he lives in an apartment building that is like this, where if you're on one side, you can kind of see across like a courtyard into like the the windows of the apartment across the way and that's where like he has his desk and everything and for the longest time last summer he would tell me it was like this saga of the woman who lived there was having this older man come over every time her husband left and would be at work and he could see exactly right into the apartment he never i said no sex but i'll do it in this case he never saw them doing anything but it was clockwork that her husband or boyfriend i don't i don't even know if he knew that what the situation was would get up and leave or go to work or whatever this older gentleman would come and they would spend time together and then he would leave before the boyfriend husband would

00:58:36 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 3:

come home and this went on for an entire summer i'm amazed when people live in very you know big cities like kramer does and stuff and they have apartments like that and you're cheating why are you cheating you know so openly close the blinds cliff what's up cliff how you doing

00:58:54 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 1:

very good guys so uh me and my me and my wife turned it to the nosy neighbors because uh we've lived next door to this lady for like three years and uh the first month she screamed at like 11 p.m so loud that we thought like she got like murdered and like we called and the cops went next door nothing happened and she's been screaming random nights for the past three years in the middle of the night her bedroom is right next to our bedroom like you know the driveway between our houses yeah so like her bedroom is right across from ours and we just we'll hear her just screaming and there's no dude so like we're like oh what the hell so yeah we now we've got nosy now we just like it's around that time is she gonna scream tonight or not so wow you

00:59:41 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 3:

And you never figured out what her scream was all about.

00:59:44 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 1:

It makes it awkward because I don't want to talk to her now. Because I don't know if she knows. You know, we don't. I don't know if she knows.

00:59:49 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 3:

What you should do is you should say to her, I keep hearing a scream and I don't know where it's coming from. Have you heard that? And just play it like that.

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I want to make sure everything's okay. Yeah. You get real passive.

00:59:59 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

And you just walk.

01:00:00 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 4:

Walk up, talk to her quietly, and then go, hey, hey. Oh, was that loud? I don't know. Was I yelling? I would get sound equipment. Like, I wonder, there's ways that you can actually put, you know, sound equipment up. Not if they don't find out about it.

01:00:14 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I am blown away by how many texters have binoculars.

01:00:19 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 4:

It is amazing.

01:00:20 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 3:

Y'all are real nosy.

01:00:21 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Jim?

01:00:24 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

01:00:25 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 4:

Hello, Jim.

01:00:27 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 1:

Hey, yes. So, one morning, getting my family to leave the house for school, so it was dark, so it was probably like 7, 7.30 in the morning, and I kind of cracked the door. I noticed somebody was, like, outside, so I'm peeking, you know, being nosy, and it was police officers, like, dressed in all black. So, apparently, our neighbor was getting raided. Oh, wow. Yes, and it's just crazy because the donor of the home, her name was Karen, real name. She was like the nosy neighbor, too. She would always sit on the porch, tell everybody what was going on in the neighborhood, about the crazy guy down the street, you know, the one guy who was cheating with the other lady a few blocks down. So she had all the gossip on the block. But this morning, she became the gossip. Oh, yeah. Apparently, her daughter, Allison, was trafficking drugs or doing something with drugs. So I kind of was just peeking out the door, watching the whole thing go down with the police and everything right in the house. It was crazy.

01:01:37 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 4:

That is crazy. Thank you for the call, buddy. Appreciate it. Leah has binoculars.

01:01:41 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Mojo.

01:01:43 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Why did you buy binoculars, Leah?

01:01:46 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 2:

My boyfriend brought the binoculars because we have a two-story place in Phoenix, so there's always something to see.

01:01:54 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to us in Phoenix?

01:01:56 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're in Phoenix.

01:01:57 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:01:58 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So across the street, it's like a big warehouse-looking thing they made into a house, and it's like a commune. Super weird. There's like a trampoline. There's a boat. There's tons of kids' stuff. And then there's this giant turtle out there So I like to watch the turtle But once in a while you catch the guy Doing some weird stuff out there So we just keep an eye out

01:02:22 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait, wait, what weird stuff have you caught?

01:02:26 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 2:

There's these big sliding doors And he had them open And he had some lady friend over And right in front of the window He could see everything

01:02:36 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 4:

He was like having sex with her in front of the window

01:02:39 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely

01:02:40 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Was the turtle watching? Yeah, he was

01:02:43 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

Maybe. It's possible. I would be.

01:02:46 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 4:

So did you move to Phoenix from Michigan or Ohio?

01:02:51 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Grand Rapids area.

01:02:53 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 4:

Is it better people watching out there than it is out here?

01:02:57 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, absolutely. The heat brings out so much crazy. Oh, the wackies. Yeah, that's the greatest.

01:03:03 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, we miss you. Thanks for waking up early and listening to us or checking out our podcast. Jessica?

01:03:08 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:03:09 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi there.

01:03:10 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

01:03:11 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 4:

We're good. We're talking about how Megan is the nosy neighbor, and she likes to listen in to her dad's neighbors.

01:03:18 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, I live in a townhouse, and I've noticed since we moved there, there's, like, a lot of traffic in and out of next door. So I will be cooking, and I'll look out my kitchen window and kind of just, like, see who's pulling in, who's pulling out. And it's, like, regular people. And one time there was, like, somebody nodding off in the car, and it's, like, all hours of the night that people are in and out, and I've just, like, realized in my head, like, they're definitely selling drugs next door. So obviously today he might be a little bit more busy Than he is on any other day

01:03:44 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it funny

01:03:47 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 3:

They're super cool neighbors But I definitely picked up on something odd

01:03:51 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 4:

I put weird thoughts Into who these people are That are across from me too They probably are just normal people And they just have weird hours like we do

01:04:00 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 3:

But you make up this story in your head

01:04:02 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 4:

That's way much more fun

01:04:03 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

It's definitely more fun for me to believe What I think is going on They just have a lot of company You know, I like to think what I think, and it makes it more interesting.

01:04:12 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 4:

The other thing, too, like, do you ever wave at them and they don't wave back? Because that's the thing with these neighbors. I've waved at them before, and I think that they don't want to wave up at me because they think that maybe I'm, like, taking a picture to get facial recognition or something.

01:04:24 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 3:

No, the neighbors are actually really cool, but, like, who I believe to be as customers, I've kind of, like, waved at them to see if they'll acknowledge me, and they kind of just, like, tuck their heads, like, oh, no. Oh, yeah.

01:04:34 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 4:

If they got their head down while they're going into their home, then there's something shady about that.

01:04:38 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, for sure. But hey, to each their own I'm not going to judge But I just think it's funny

01:04:42 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I love that Mojo in the morning show So One of my really, really good friends Is A stay-at-home dad And he Runs a little You know, runs a very good business A big business But does it out of his house

01:05:00 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 2:

He's with the kids all day, and he actually homeschools the kids, too. Wow. So it's unbelievable what he does. And here's the wildest part of this whole thing. He's got all of his hair. He's not gray, and he hasn't lost his mind yet. I can't understand it, Mike. What is his secret? I don't know what his secret is. But he did have something happen to him the other day. Hold on. I want to call him up because I want to ask him about this, and I have him tell you guys this story. Um, the, the question I'm going to ask the listeners is what did you do when you went to a public restroom and they did not have toilet paper and you didn't realize it until it was too late? Will?

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi, hi, Mojo.

01:05:45 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, buddy?

01:05:47 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

01:05:48 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 2:

Good. Um, so, well, I was just describing you and the fact that you have complete sanity yet You are home with the kids, homeschooling them, and also dealing with trying to keep the house together. And then also, it was your wife Jessica's birthday the other day, right?

01:06:06 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 1:

The 40th birthday is today.

01:06:08 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Today! Happy birthday, Jessica! Happy birthday! Celebrating her 40th birthday today. Is it okay for us to say what you ended up going and getting at the store? Because will she know to the surprise?

01:06:22 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 1:

Already, I'm bad at keeping surprises. So I gave that surprise out yesterday on the way to her birthday dinner with our office. Okay. All right.

01:06:33 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 2:

So here's the interesting thing. He went to Party City. Okay. Anybody that's ever been to a Party City, have you ever guys, do they have Party Cities in West Michigan and in Toledo? Yeah, of course. All right. Anybody that's ever been there post-COVID knows this. simply just to go get some balloons is a task these days unless you pre-order them like months ahead of time or something right it's always like craziness trying to get those things but it happened to you will that you went in there to go get your balloons for jessica and then you started getting the bubble gut so anybody knows if you've been into party city and

01:07:12 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 1:

you walk in the door they always say welcome to the party well there's never anybody there and It's never a party, but I'm pretty sure we made it a party.

01:07:22 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 2:

You had to go use the bathroom at a party city. Where is the bathrooms at Party City? Is it like the back corner or something?

01:07:30 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 1:

Actually, that's exactly where it's at, in the back corner of the building on the one on Orchard Lake Road, and you have to try to find it. So we're there to pick up a couple of the two big gold 40 balloons, and it hit me. And I'm like, all right, kids, we've got to go to the bathroom real quick. So we're walking all the way to the back. We were on the way to take Danny to his jiu-jitsu class. This was on Monday. Big shout-out to Roots Combat Club in Booth Hill Club. There you go. World-class facility, world-class facility. All right. Okay. So Danny's wearing Crocs and socks. We walk all the way back there. I reach for the toilet paper. There is none. Oh, no. Oh, no. My worst hair. I wrecked their toilet. Kids are outside the bathroom. Kids are old enough. Danny just turned seven. He can watch his sister. They're right outside the door. I can hear him. And I'm thinking, I'm like, what am I going to do? I'm like, oh, it's jujitsu class with Coach Alex today. I go, Danny, I go, take off your Crocs and take off your socks. I go, just put your Crocs on. He's like, why? I go, because you don't wear socks at jujitsu. It'll be easier. It's faster. When we get there in a few minutes, he's like, okay, take them off. I open the door real quick, hands me the socks. It's toilet paper piece number one, toilet paper. Here's my question. Here's my question.

01:08:56 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead. What's your question? How'd you get from the toilet to the door?

01:09:00 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 1:

What was the stance? You know what? It's kind of like that squatty potty product. I just squatted right over, didn't open the door, but like one creak, Danny already had his socks off, boom, grabbed him, shut the door. with less than 10 seconds. I threw the socks away. I didn't flush them. Threw them away, and we kept going.

01:09:19 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's amazing. You know what? That's a dad right there. That's a reason. No way. No way. So wait, why could you not do this? You're in Party City, and maybe your kids aren't old enough to do this. Definitely not old enough to do it, but my thought would have been, we're in Party City. There's got to be, like, Spider-Man napkins or something on one of the counters. You know?

01:09:44 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

That's a long jiu-jitsu Roots Combat Club bear crawl all the way. How do you wipe with socks? Do you put your hand, like, up the sock like a puppet? Great question. I mean, Danny.

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 3:

and so his feet are kind of small i just did the one finger all right we don't need to get into

01:10:05 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 1:

that whole thing wait did when you left will when you got done with this after using you know your son's socks did you tell the people that say hey welcome to the party behind the counter hey we need to get some toilet paper in that place uh no actually i i walked out and they said have a good

01:10:26 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 3:

day and i walked out and said have a great day with a crap eating grin on my face i mean that was it it was i felt bad i felt embarrassed but not too bad so i just

01:10:36 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 1:

just kind of walked out what if they were wait what if they were danny's favorite socks would

01:10:41 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 3:

you have done that if they were danny's favorite socks yeah 100 i absolutely would have probably went on amazon right there and ordered another pair for him if they were hulk socks i would not have done that but i think they were like thor or uh or another superhero but they weren't the Hulk socks, 100%, no.

01:10:57 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 1:

Is that not the, by the way, that's not a bad place to actually not have toilet paper because there's obviously access to go get it.

01:11:03 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 2:

There's a ton of other things, yeah.

01:11:04 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 1:

What would you have done? Would you ever consider this? Would you ever consider pulling your pants up to a point where they weren't touching your Botox?

01:11:12 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 2:

No, you know, honestly, what I probably would have done, especially if I didn't have anybody with me and I was by myself, right? Like, you, Will, were very resourceful and lucky to have your kids. I would have probably taken off my underwear And used my underwear to wipe And then thrown away my underwear Yeah but what happens when you're wearing like the The thongy thong Like the thin second skin thong Or whatever I mean at least something I don't know

01:11:39 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

Will did you think about that What if your son didn't have socks on

01:11:44 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 3:

I would have found I would have found some sort of paper product Without having to go too far I don't know what it would have been Money. Yes, I would have, yeah. Just walk down, ask somebody for a dollar, I'll be right back.

01:12:00 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 1:

The worst is I had that same thing happen to me, and I was getting ready to start a remote for the station years back. And I remember we were doing a remote at a cell phone store, and they let me use their bathroom that they have at a cell phone store, which is in the back area there.

01:12:16 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 2:

You pooped in that?

01:12:17 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 1:

And all I remember was there was no toilet paper, so I picked up my phone, called the cell phone store, and I had to go through the national hotline of, thank you for calling Verizon Wireless, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and I'm like, hit for the store locator. Hi, I'm in the toilet. The funny thing was, when they finally brought me toilet paper and told me that there's, you know, here you go, you do the whole thing, they said, we were wondering how long you were going to be there. They thought I was in there, you know, having a really, really bad time. Gosh.

01:12:50 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 3:

If this doesn't say happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Jessica, on her 40th birthday. Oh, there you go. That's right. Your husband's a dirtbag. I don't know what.

01:12:59 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 1:

No, no, that's sweet. That is so sweet that you did that. All right, Will. We'll talk to you later, buddy. Have a great day and happy birthday to Jessica.

01:13:07 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 3:

Bye, guys.

01:13:07 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself.

01:13:10 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. Mojo. 30.

01:13:12 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

20. 20. 20.

01:13:14 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 3:

10, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:13:24 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 1:

All right, are you ready?

01:13:25 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:13:28 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo hat. Let's go. Mojo in the Morning show. Wow, this is a talent.

01:13:41 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

You know, I don't know that I would call it a talent Maybe Is it something I should be proud of?

01:13:47 - 01:13:55 | Speaker 1:

You should actually see if you could get on What is it, America? What's the Nick Cannon show? The Masked Singer?

01:13:55 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 3:

No, my fiancee Wes and I

01:14:01 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Went to the gym last night And we're working out And I really don't necessarily know what I'm doing So he was like showing me some of the stuff to do and he had me doing this like thing with the cables and the ropes and I was like going over my head. Well, I think that it was way, way, way too heavy for me. So I had my feet kind of like spread apart like this and I was trying really hard to get these stupid things over my head. And all of a sudden, I felt it happen and I made a face. So Wes knew something was wrong. And he looked at me and he goes, are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? And I said, no, my tampon fell out. And he goes, what? What just happened? And I said, I pushed my tampon out of my body doing that exercise. I thought he was going to throw up. I didn't know that was possible. It is possible. It is possible.

01:14:55 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 1:

Does that happen?

01:14:57 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

It happened.

01:14:58 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 1:

A lot or no?

01:14:59 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Not a lot, no.

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 6:

I mean, it has to be a real special occasion for it to happen.

01:15:03 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 5:

To be fair, it would never happen to me in the gym because I would have to go to the gym. But I have not. Tell me why this always happens. I sneeze more when I'm on my period and it happens when I sneeze sometimes. Yeah.

01:15:14 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 6:

It's awful. And full disclosure, I was not wearing underwear because some yoga pants, you can see the underwear lines real well. So I wasn't.

01:15:21 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 5:

You're never wearing underwear. Have you noticed? I'm wearing underwear right now. Tell me your stories. You say, I carry around seven pairs of underwear in my purse. But when it comes to any story, you're like, but I wasn't wearing underwear.

01:15:32 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 6:

When was I not wearing underwear?

01:15:34 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

No, you do say, you'll say, I wasn't wearing underwear.

01:15:36 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 6:

At night, I don't wear underwear. I let it air out, as you all should.

01:15:39 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 2:

We're going to have to keep track. We're going to have an underwear tote board here or something. We're going to have like a scoreboard in the studio. That's weird.

01:15:47 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 5:

That's where you draw the line on this show?

01:15:51 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 2:

Keep track of it mentally then. April 5th. Okay, so I've always wanted to ask this question of my wife or my sisters and see if they would answer this.

01:16:03 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 6:

Mommy, what is a vagina?

01:16:05 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 2:

No, I've always wanted to ask this question about the tampon and about doing it. Because I would have a hard time, you know, putting it, you know, doing it and stuff, you know?

01:16:22 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 5:

Doing what? It's just a sentence. Elaborate. Everybody be quiet. Elaborate.

01:16:26 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 2:

No, I would have a hard, like, I would, because I have a hard time right now, like, sticking things up my nose.

01:16:33 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 6:

Okay. You know what I mean?

01:16:35 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 2:

So, I, like, do you ever try to, like, do the nasal sprays up your nose and stuff like that? Nasal spray I'm cool with. I can't do neti pie. I have one of those trimmers, those, like, nose hair trimmers, and every time I do it, I sit there and I have to close my eyes when I'm doing it because it bothers me. So, I didn't know if that's something. I know I understand you guys are

01:16:54 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 5:

A lot of people have told me the nose Very similar to the lady bits So I'm glad you made that connection

01:16:59 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

I was trying to think of something that you have to stick

01:17:01 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 6:

But how do you get it back How do you get it back How does it go back in Well you take that one out and you start fresh

01:17:08 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh you can't just push it back in

01:17:10 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 6:

I mean you could It's probably not healthy nor sanitary To do that

01:17:15 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Your vagina just tried to bite me

01:17:19 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 6:

And then I had to walk to the bathroom like, oh, wow, I'm like, this is my leg so wide.

01:17:24 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 2:

And nobody can see it, right? Nobody sees it like, no. What's up, Alex? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:17:31 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. So this happened to me last week at work. My coworker and I always, like, try and scare each other. And so I was trying to scare her, and I jumped and, like, shouted boo at her. And it shot out of me. and I made the same face Shannon probably did. And her co-worker was like, what happened? I think she thought I peed my pants, which I don't know which I would prefer. And I was like, oh, my God, my tampon just shot out. I know. It still shocks me.

01:18:05 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It was a nightmare. Could you imagine men having a period for just one?

01:18:10 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

No. No, we're not strong enough. It would be a bunch of dudes running around trying to scare each other. I can't even deal with it when I cut myself and have to put a Band-Aid on, you know. Alex, thank you for the call. Jasmine wants to give Megan and Shannon a compliment. It says here, you're going to give them a compliment?

01:18:32 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I said, in order to be able to push out a tampon through a workout or sneezing, you have some super strong vagina muscles. Yes. Thank you.

01:18:41 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I swear sitting on that chair, that pelvic floor chair helped me so much.

01:18:46 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 5:

I would like the men out here saying that I shouldn't be hooking up with people to hear this woman one more time. What was that?

01:18:54 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 6:

My vagina is angry.

01:18:58 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right. Well, there you go. That's a compliment. You can put that in your dating profile, Megan. Lee wants to be voiceless, guys. This could be because of an embarrassing story. What's going on, Lee?

01:19:09 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 1:

so when i was about 12 years old um i started using tampons and my parents never taught me my mom never taught me how to use them properly so the very first time i used one i was very uncomfortable um we had went out to dinner and i just i couldn't sit still my mom was like are you okay and i'm like i think there's something wrong with my team con um so apparently i didn't know that you're supposed to take it out of the cardboard so i used the cardboard and all up

01:19:37 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. No, you did not.

01:19:40 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 5:

Wait, ow, ow, ow, ow. First of all, shame on your mom for getting you cardboard ones. Second of all.

01:19:45 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what that means. Does it come wrapped in cardboard or something?

01:19:48 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it is plastic.

01:19:50 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

And are cardboard ones cheap? Yes. Is that what it is? Okay. Listen, I'm going to spend a lot of money on something like that. You know what I mean? Like, there's certain things you spend the money on.

01:20:00 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 4:

Don't ask me how much my Diva Cups are. Ugh, gross. Are they? Are those expensive? Really? They're like 50 bucks each. Wow. 50? Yes. Oh, girl. And a cup? Is it like a cup like baseball? Yes. That's exactly what it is. No. No. It's like a silicone shot glass.

01:20:18 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever run out of shot glasses and use them? Or because they're so expensive, you don't?

01:20:22 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you what hurt my feelings the most? Is I turn 30 and you have to change sizes. And that hurt. It was like, hey, guess what?

01:20:30 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:20:31 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 4:

You're getting older.

01:20:32 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 1:

They actually have different sizes for different ages?

01:20:34 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 4:

Like an age range? Either if you have kids or if you just get older and you don't have kids. What is the sizing? Is it like small, medium? They number it. It's just like a one, two, three.

01:20:49 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Shan, what's up?

01:20:51 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I just want Mojo, especially you, love you lots. But listen, any man listening to this right now, you need to realize the vagina is a very, very powerful thing in not to mess with her.

01:21:03 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 1:

Amen. Amen.

01:21:05 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes, ma'am.

01:21:06 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 1:

I'm not messing, Chance. Thank you. Thank you for reminding me, though.

01:21:10 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And you need to learn and listen to these ladies, okay?

01:21:13 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm listening to them right now. Listen, I'm telling you. I was raised by my sisters. And, of course, I have a very strong wife. You've heard her before on the air, Chelsea. So listen, I bow down before you

01:21:25 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 3:

And teach your boys

01:21:27 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

And she definitely does it What's up, Amanda?

01:21:32 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 2:

Yes, hello to Mojo in the morning Good morning, everybody

01:21:34 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, what's going on?

01:21:36 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I'm 41 years old and this is a nightmare Because I'll never forget it Remember Geauga Lake?

01:21:42 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 1:

Was that like a water park? Okay, I was going to ask that

01:21:46 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 2:

Yep, so my mom actually taught me With a mirror, standing over a mirror When I was about 12 to put a tampon in while still so new at it. And, of course, we go to Geauga Lake, and I'm like, great, I'm on my period, so I think I have it incorrectly. I'm walking up a water slide with my step-sister at the time, and I could feel it not all the way in. As it slides down into my bathing suit, I am dripping blood. It was insane.

01:22:09 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, my gosh.

01:22:12 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 2:

I had to run down the water slide and head to a bathroom. Oh, you poor thing.

01:22:17 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 1:

And that's in front of friends, probably, and family and stuff like that.

01:22:20 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Family and friends, yes. And my mom did come down from the slide and come help me out.

01:22:27 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 1:

That's like the worst nightmare ever.

01:22:28 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 2:

Here I am. Years and years later, you'll just never forget those moments of being a woman, for sure.

01:22:32 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you for calling and appreciate that.

01:22:35 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 4:

It does need to normalize it for the girls out there. Like, this was my biggest fear growing up was any sort of, like, period malfunction. And it happens. It was everybody. Yeah, and look, we just got a compliment today because of it.

01:22:46 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that nice? It's nice to get compliments.

01:22:48 - 01:22:52 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, like, all cute, but there's a crazy side, too.

01:22:52 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 1:

That chick is a ticking time bomb. Get out of the building. This is Mojo in the Morning. When you go and do the ooh, that's usually the look when I take my shirt off at the pool, when the pool opens up on Memorial Day.

01:23:04 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 5:

I know this is a lie, because you don't take your shirt off.

01:23:06 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 1:

I know, you're right. But that was a good joke, though, wasn't it?

01:23:08 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 5:

It was a good joke.

01:23:09 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask you guys a question? How long do you keep the same towel, or do you not keep the same towel? Ew. I'm like a person that likes to reuse my towel because when a towel gets put through the wash, I always feel like it's a great towel to have. But a day later, the towel's even just as good.

01:23:29 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 5:

I'm a two or three day-er.

01:23:31 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 1:

Are you really?

01:23:31 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Me too. Yeah. Really? I thought Shannon, you would be like a once a time. Is it gross?

01:23:39 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 1:

You go three days? I won't go more than two days.

01:23:41 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes three days. Yeah, sure.

01:23:42 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 1:

Really? Depends. What about you, Megan? And are you more than that?

01:23:46 - 01:23:53 | Speaker 5:

I have like 10 towels, so I just grab a new one every time. Do you? That's actually what you're supposed to do. You're not supposed to even reuse towels. I'm just really lazy.

01:23:54 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 1:

You're not supposed to?

01:23:55 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 5:

I don't think you're supposed to reuse towels more than one time. Okay.

01:23:57 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, my routine is use it to clean yourself after a shower. And then it's usually in the bathroom just in case I need a spare towel, which doesn't get used. And then it gets moved into my bedroom for when I self-tan. I stand on it so I don't ruin my floors. Okay, so. There's a full lifespan of my towels. That's not a bad idea.

01:24:15 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 1:

You take your towel and make it your floor towel then for a little bit.

01:24:18 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:24:19 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so what was the one the other day you asked us in the studio, Shannon, about reusing it?

01:24:23 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 5:

So it was pajamas. Okay. How many days or how many nights, excuse me, in a row do you wear the same pair of pajamas? Because for whatever reason, we all, and I'm including myself in here, we all think of pajamas as like different from clothing. Like, of course, if you wear a shirt, for the most part, you're throwing it in the laundry after you wear it, right? But with pajamas, I know I go more than one day sometimes with my pajamas.

01:24:47 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 4:

There's something cozy about your pajamas.

01:24:49 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 5:

And if it's sweatpants, I might go more than two days.

01:24:53 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

I shower before I go to sleep, so I'm clean getting into the clothes. So I think it's if I don't get warm throughout the night.

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 5:

They're clean, right? They're still clean.

01:25:03 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, so 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We want to see how dirty you MFers are and ask you this question. So I'm looking up here right now. How many times before you can wash or have to wash? According to, this is done by some university that had their bacterial department go through it. According to them They say towels Once that's it That you need to wash it after once So Shannon you were right on that one Jeans Here we go with this one Because we talked about this I mean I'll go sometimes Weeks without washing my jeans Which is good They say two to three times And you should wash your jeans I think you ruin them I think they're done after that

01:25:52 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 4:

The only time I would wash my jeans after like one or two wears is if I go to like a restaurant, for example, and I smell like that restaurant. Yeah. Then I throw them in.

01:26:00 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

Pajamas? Uh-oh, Shannon. They're saying that you should not wear and re-wear your pajamas. At all. Because they say at night is when you let out the most bacteria, especially if, especially if, oh, jeez, uh-oh, I started, uh-oh, I spilled something on.

01:26:15 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:26:16 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 1:

Get a blower, get a blower. Oh, God. Oh, no. Oh, no. Hold on. I spilled.

01:26:22 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 5:

You're the reason why when we move studios, We can't have food in the studio Nope no drinks either No coffee I'm not kidding you

01:26:33 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm dabbing it And the boss is coming in here in a second To play a contest with us They're saying as far as pajamas are concerned The reason why you want to make sure That you don't wear and then re-wear Is because you shouldn't be wearing underwear So you should not You should not sleep with underwear on

01:26:54 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

Air it out. You got to air it out.

01:26:56 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 1:

And Megan?

01:26:57 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not.

01:26:58 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 1:

You do wear underwear?

01:27:00 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I wear underwear.

01:27:01 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 4:

When you sleep, you really are not supposed to.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 5:

I really don't care.

01:27:06 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 4:

No, I know. I'm just saying.

01:27:08 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 1:

Some people actually have bedtime underwear.

01:27:11 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 5:

Are you ready for this? I sleep in an underwire bra.

01:27:14 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. That sounds uncomfortable.

01:27:16 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 5:

Okay, try sleeping with these boobs without support. They pull you over. You'll be laying on the side of the bed. They look like 36 Ds to me. Megan, that's a picture of you just rolling onto the floor. Y'all see the slinky? That's why my boobs are like no underwire.

01:27:34 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 1:

Melanie, what's going on?

01:27:36 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How are you?

01:27:38 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 1:

We're good, Melanie. We're talking about how often do you wear before washing?

01:27:42 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, I left the man about a year ago, and he wore the same socks every day. I literally had to, like, confiscate the socks when he took them off at night so that he wouldn't re-wear them. If I didn't, like, tell him to change his socks, I don't think he'd ever change them.

01:28:03 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 4:

Now, that, to me, will get stinky because for sure your feet get sweaty no matter what. Oh, nasty.

01:28:07 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, his feet were nasty to begin with, and that's just one of the many things. He liked to pee in the sink, too. What? What? Guys. Why? Why not the toilet? Dude, I have no idea. I caught him once, and then we moved a couple times, and I'm like, dude, stop peeing in the sink. It smells like ass. That is weird.

01:28:29 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 1:

Actually, if his ass smells like that.

01:28:32 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

Dude, he wouldn't clean up after himself. He's an ex. That's why he's an ex.

01:28:37 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Wait, let me guess.

01:28:38 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 3:

Was he a mama's boy? No. He just lied about a lot. He lied to his friends about his age. He lied to everybody about... I mean, he had multiple Facebook accounts pretending that these were his friends. Oh, my God. The stuff that I have that I still have, like, all in my cloud, it's crazy.

01:29:00 - 01:29:05 | Speaker 1:

Where do you meet a guy that never changes his socks and pees in the sink?

01:29:05 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jesus Christ. I met him on Facebook dating. Oh, no.

01:29:09 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 1:

There you go. There's an ad for Facebook dating. Try it today. What's up, Morgan?

01:29:14 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, yeah. So for pajamas, wearing the shirt a couple days in a row is fine, but if you don't wear underwear so bad and you don't change your pants, that is so crusty.

01:29:25 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 5:

Well, that depends. No, it's crusty. It depends. That's booty juices. That's crusty.

01:29:34 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I think that you should air those things out, Megan. You should air out top and bottom.

01:29:41 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well, first of all, you have no idea to walk around with toddlers on your chest. So once you do, then I'll start taking your opinions and sleeping in broads. He has an idea.

01:29:50 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 1:

Right? Oh, just kidding. Oh, my. I'm going to get you back. Wait, hold on a second. Slim's been hanging out with us for, like, the morning here, and I'm going to say this to you. I'm never allowing you to ever come in our building ever again.

01:30:04 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 2:

I had to get you back.

01:30:05 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 1:

The next time that you come will be my funeral. That will be it. You're not allowed here. I wouldn't say that. Talking about my man boobs.

01:30:13 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 3:

I am. They're called moobs. He was awfully quiet this whole time, and then that one thing. It was my one shining moment. I had to take advantage of it. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:30:23 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 1:

All right, time now for the second date update. So we got a little issue here. And the issue is that we're not getting a call back from the girl that wanted to do the second date update and wanted to find out why she's not getting a message back. So this is kind of interesting. It's kind of the opposite of what we've had happen before. Usually it's a tough one, right? So am I right by saying that, Sean? Are you the person that's not calling back? that's correct so yep so this is this is kind of wild here because we were doing second date update and ellie contacted our producers and said that she wanted to find out why it was that you weren't calling back after you guys went on a date and usually you're the tough person to get it's not necessarily the person that does want to do this maybe she's got cold feet can we kind of go with the whole let's hear about the date and then tell us why you're not calling her back and maybe that will be the explanation as to why she's not on the phone with us right now to talk to us sure okay so what was the date what did you guys do uh we went to a pretty nice italian restaurant

01:31:45 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 2:

um you know it was like uh you know you know for a first day kind of like more than i usually do But we'd been, like, talking for a while We met on Tinder And we'd been, like, FaceTiming for a couple weeks Before we actually met up in person So I feel like, you know, we'd already kind of hit it off So, you know, this was, you know, kind of like a special date

01:32:07 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 1:

Okay, all right So go out to eat Everything was good Your conversation was good What happened?

01:32:13 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, yeah It was good up until she got a text from her ex-boyfriend

01:32:20 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? And what was that about? Did you ever see, or did she tell you?

01:32:27 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I didn't see the text, but she told me, she was like, oh, my ex is sick, and I have to leave, and I have to go bring him soup. That's what she said. I was like, we're in the middle of a date, and that's your ex-boyfriend.

01:32:42 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 1:

So she left the date early?

01:32:45 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She straight up and got up. I mean, almost like it was an emergency. And I was like, I mean, I don't even know if it's, like, real I'm like, okay, if you just, like, maybe you, like, didn't like me in person But, like, just be honest about it

01:32:59 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Alright, now here's the weird part of this She contacted us to find out what it was that's making him not call back Because she wanted to have another date To me, that would be the obvious of what she did For sure Never mention this Do you think that she realized, uh-oh, that's what he's going to say And it's going to make her look bad and that's the reason why she didn't come on with us.

01:33:22 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely.

01:33:24 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 1:

All right, so let's turn this around a little bit here and let's ask the question of the listeners. Is it ever a good thing to be out on a date with somebody and have your person you're on a date with get a text message from their ex? You could just stop there. Right.

01:33:44 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Because with what happened here, for her to end the date to rush over to be by her ex's side i mean that is that's very obviously

01:33:53 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 1:

or what a red flag let me give you let me give you another situation here and this is hypothetical okay sean so this i'm not discounting yours but maybe listeners can call in on this one and tell us if this has ever happened to you has anybody ever in the middle of the date had to leave early for a reason or had a date leave early for a reason and what was their reasoning and we got to judge whether or not we think that that was viable or not viable because by the way

01:34:19 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 3:

sean i think if she just didn't like you and wanted the date to end early it would have been like oh my best friend blah blah blah my mom something happened to my mom this just seems this doesn't seem like a lie at all it seems like a very real thing which i don't think is a is a good very real thing yeah this isn't the lie you come up you know yeah right right right um 844

01:34:40 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Cormojo Live, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. According to our producer, they think that they might have gotten – they're talking, but she doesn't know if she wants to go on the air with us. Sean, Ellie, so we might actually have her before the end of this thing.

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay, what's going on?

01:35:02 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning.

01:35:03 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Say hello to Sean.

01:35:06 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Sean.

01:35:07 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 2:

Poor guy. Hi.

01:35:09 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 5:

I know, I totally agree. I think you're getting played, like, from a female standpoint.

01:35:15 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

So do you think that she really just wanted to leave the date early?

01:35:21 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, for her to give that much information, to be comfortable enough to say, My ex is sick I have to go There's something still going on between them There's still an open line of communication That's something that I just would not trust And if you were going to lie I would be a way better liar than that I would never bring an ex I would say like you know something else

01:35:45 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 2:

Like family or somebody Yeah dad or somebody Yeah Deshaun comment from you What's up it's Mojo in the morning This is our Mojo in the morning misfit Deshaun

01:35:54 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 7:

Hey Deshaun Hey, hey, good morning, good morning.

01:35:58 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I agree. Like, I'm like, I don't know if I'm comfortable if you're, like, that tight with your ex that you're, like, leaving a date with, like, possibly someone you're going to be in a future relationship with to, like, you know, go back to the well. That's just, like, that's not cool with me. That's why I didn't hit her back.

01:36:12 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 2:

Say hi to Deshaun, Sean. Sean, meet Deshaun. Deshaun, meet Sean.

01:36:18 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 3:

What's up, man? Hey, first of all, there is no future for y'all. Let's get that out the way. Another thing is She's still banging She is digmatized

01:36:28 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 2:

Did you just say digmatized? She's digmatized Hold on Deshaun Hold on Deshaun She's on with us Hold on a second Deshaun you stay right there And Sean Ellie Hello Are you okay with being on the radio Ellie?

01:36:49 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 6:

01:36:49 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 2:

Say hello to Sean hi sean wow oh hi um hey also say hello to dashawn

01:36:58 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 6:

hi dashawn hey hey hey i guess that egg got you whipped no no we're really we're really just friends you know um he's a really nice person it didn't work out there's not there's not a future there but um you know i don't think there's anything wrong with staying friends with somebody you know if you're dating someone you should have things in

01:37:24 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 7:

common you should have something like here's my question for you hang out with your ex you have the date whoa whoa

01:37:32 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 2:

sean sean sean's a little upset by this whole thing that's all right that's okay i gotta sorry about that that's okay no no no i get it listen man you're hurt by the whole deal

01:37:47 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 7:

Ellie, here's my question for you. What the F, Ellie? It's cool to be friends with your ex, for sure. But didn't he have other people that he could call to bring him soup? And couldn't you say, hey, you know, I'm sorry you're not feeling great, but I'm on a date right now, or I'm busy right now, and I can't bring you anything?

01:38:07 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 6:

She didn't want to bring him soup. Of his group of friends, like, I'm the person who, like, is closest by, like, just where he lives in the area.

01:38:16 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 7:

But you were busy. You were busy, and it's okay to say no.

01:38:20 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but also, like, it's a first date. I don't think it's, like, that big of a deal to reschedule or cut it short. Like, it's a first, you know, you don't even know if it's going to work out yet. Like, I understand. Like, I'm really sorry, Sean, that I hurt you, but also to me, it's like, it's not, it's the first one, you know? Yeah, but that's the first impression. We don't even know each other really yet. Yeah. And to me, it's like, you know, this is someone who, like, even if it was just a friend, I would do this just for a friend. It's not because he's my ex that I did. It's not because I used to date him.

01:38:54 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 4:

I would do this for a friend. How sick was he? I mean, can't he order soup on Grubhub?

01:38:58 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, why could he not do that? Why could he not just have it delivered to him?

01:39:04 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 6:

I mean, it's like a huge drink of money.

01:39:06 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Because why? Because you are dick-matized.

01:39:10 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 7:

Or you could have sent it to him on DoorDash or Crap Hub.

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 2:

Right, Deshaun? Right, Deshaun?

01:39:17 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes, man. Digmatize. I'm telling you, man.

01:39:20 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second real quick. DJ had the similar thing happen. DJ, what happened to you on a date?

01:39:25 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I was on a first date with a girl. And we were actually just left the restaurant. And we're on our way to see a movie. And her ex called her phone. And she answered it on speakerphone. And it was just apparently they were best friends for a while. And he was just like, yeah. Oh, hold on.

01:39:42 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

You got to dump that, too. You got to dump that, too. We let Digmatize slide. That's why this keeps happening. Oh, you think that that's the problem? Yeah. Okay. All right. Well, you know what? But Digmatize is a toy. You can buy it at Toyology. So that's a really good thing. You should go check it out. Okay, so do not swear anymore, DJ. So she answers it on speaker.

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 5:

she answers it on speaker and then you're sitting there going what's going on here why is this

01:40:07 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 2:

happening yeah at first i'm just like why is she answering her phone from someone who she said before was her ex and she had been texting back and forth for a while and i was just already kind of irked at that point but didn't want to say anything because so far it's been great and she answers the phone on speaker and he's just like yeah I'm bored let's hang out and she's like okay and then she looks at me and she's like sorry I gotta go and I'm like and that was it right

01:40:36 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 4:

yeah that was it for you guys

01:40:40 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 5:

wow that's unbelievable and women think that guys are bad people huh huh right I think they're worse than us I think they're worse than us absolutely I don't want to hear it anymore Alright, well listen Hey, no, exactly Guys, just do it behind your back

01:41:03 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 4:

And get busted with the War of the Roses Deshaun, you're on fire today

01:41:08 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 5:

Hey, second date update here I'm assuming that we're not going to have another date here Sean, you do not want to go out with Ellie anymore, right? No, definitely not Alright, Ellie Ellie, you're stuck with the sick guy Is he feeling better, by the way?

01:41:22 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's doing a lot better

01:41:23 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I'm just making sure.

01:41:24 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 1:

I bet he is.

01:41:27 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Show. I don't know how we got into this conversation, but the conversation that happened between Megan from our show and my son Joe, who is from the Joe Show, you probably can hear him in, you know, I don't want you to listen to him in the morning, to be honest with you, because that takes away from us. He listened to his podcast. Even though he's my son and I love him, honestly, I would like all the ratings. I would like him to have none of the ratings. He can have all the ratings in the afternoon on Channel 955. But he is on the iHeartRadio app, and his podcast is great, too. It's called The Joe Show. So we were on a three-way call with Megan, myself, and my son.

01:42:14 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 3:

I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust. Does that excite you at all or no?

01:42:19 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 5:

No, it wasn't one of those. It was a three-way call. How weird would that be, by the way? Very. A father-son combo. Has anybody ever had that before?

01:42:28 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 4:

I was just going to say, I bet people have.

01:42:30 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 5:

It's got to be. But we were talking, and my son said something that offended Megan.

01:42:37 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

Because it was disrespectful. Because Joe has no faith in me. And it was actually so upsetting to realize that he just underestimates my ability to run a prison. And when I say run a prison, I don't mean work for a prison. I mean, if I was an inmate, I would be the top dog in that prison. And he said that I wouldn't do well. And I disagree. I think that if I ever went to prison, I think I would be the person everybody comes to. First of all, I've got the makeup skills. I know how to make a bomb eyeliner from a colored pencil. Number two, I've watched enough prison documentaries to know exactly how to make the best food and what commissary items need to be traded and have value. And number three, I just, I think I would be funny enough to entertain everybody and get on everybody's good side.

01:43:33 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

I think funny is what they're looking for in prison.

01:43:35 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 1:

No, here's the thing. You're thinking of men's prisons, and I am the first person to admit that I would not do well in a men's prison. I would be somebody's B-word, for sure. But in a women's prison, things are different, and I think I would run things. So you're actually offended at this comment? 100%. If it was federal prison, by the way, I thought about this a lot. If it was federal prison, Mojo would do great because he plays golf.

01:44:01 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 5:

That's true. So Megan was offended that Joe said that she would not be good in prison, that she would actually, you know, end up being somebody else's bitch.

01:44:16 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 1:

And let's be honest.

01:44:17 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 5:

And Megan said no, that she would be the one that would make everybody else her bitch.

01:44:21 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 1:

Let's be honest. I'd get some J-Pay money.

01:44:25 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Go ahead, Megan. Finish what you were saying.

01:44:27 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 1:

I'd get some J-Pay money. You'd call into the show all the time. You don't think I would be popular around my cell when everybody wants to get onto the show?

01:44:35 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 5:

All right. Question to the listeners. Who do you think would do the best and who would do the worst in prison if we were in prison? And if you've ever been in prison or jail, call us up. Joe? Yes? Megan took offense to the conversation about she would do bad in prison that you said to her.

01:44:54 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but here's Megan's whole theory and why it wouldn't work. Megan, I don't think would even...

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 7:

get arrested in anywhere that you know the radio shows on i'm talking about like if megan came and visited us we have no pole in florida if you were in a florida prison megan you don't know

01:45:11 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 3:

you're gonna be someone's bitch i'm not absolutely not i've watched enough documentaries i've studied

01:45:19 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 7:

this i could live this i watch all the documentaries too i know for a fact the first thing's I might be four people's bitches before I even get processed.

01:45:28 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 5:

Joe, you would be completely ruined in prison. First off, you would instantly become the lover of about 20 of the guys.

01:45:38 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

You're too pretty.

01:45:40 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 5:

And you would be the guy that would end up being like, you know how you ever watch, I don't know, any of the movies that are out there about people in prison? Or what was the show that I used to watch all the time?

01:45:53 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 1:

Orange is the New Black?

01:45:55 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 5:

Orange is the New Black. So in Orange is the New Black, it's always like the new person that comes in. Joe would be the person that would be like, I don't know, helping them get everything that they needed. He would work in the laundry room.

01:46:12 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 1:

How to use the phone to call your family.

01:46:13 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 7:

That's also my problem, though, is that I look like I star in Orange is the New Black. We were at Pride the other week, and I had like eight people walk up to me, and they thought I was a woman from behind. I have, like, a real, like, lesbian haircut right now. I think that that's why, like, the men would, like, definitely. I mean, it's like the Ellen DeGeneres show.

01:46:34 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 5:

Wait, wait. I've not seen your haircut lately, but that's interesting, though. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

01:46:43 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 3:

But, Joe, if you don't think it's me, then who would do well on this show in prison?

01:46:47 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Like, and it's nothing to take, like, you know, I think that you guys would all be, I mean, you'd be like, you'd be big bitch dad. I mean, Shannon, like, is way too nice. Mike, I mean, maybe Mike, like, no, because Mike is too nice. Mike is too nice, way too nice.

01:47:06 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 4:

But he can play the whole, you know, Latin thing. I would pretend like I'm tough. So I'd walk in there and I'd look for the top dog. I'd look for top dog and immediately go after him. And then he would challenge me back and I would go, yep, nope, all right, all right. Just kidding.

01:47:22 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 7:

I don't even, I don't think anyone would.

01:47:26 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I feel like your dad might do okay because. I could talk my way out of it. I was going to say, I think he would talk people's ear off to the point where they'd be like, don't bother that dude. He won't leave you alone.

01:47:36 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 5:

You know what it would be? Honestly, it would be, oh, didn't that guy used to be on the radio before? And they would sit there and go, oh, man, I grew up listening to you. Remember that whole thing that people will say? And I would have like the gang leader that would go My mom used to listen to you in the phone scams Every morning on their way to school And I'd be like thank you Sergio See you need to protect me But I just want you to know Sergio I do not want to be your lover

01:47:59 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 4:

And I'll say this though I spooned with you last night And you made me feel safe

01:48:05 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 5:

Joe Mike and I were in Our bed together your mom let us Sleep in the bed together last night

01:48:11 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 7:

Oh my god and who was the big spoon Who was the little spoon Well, who do you think? Take a guess. Who do you think?

01:48:16 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't give up the big spoon ever.

01:48:19 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 7:

And does Mike look like a lesbian from behind you? Some days.

01:48:23 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 5:

Some days. Hold on. Spencer wants to comment on this one. Spencer, comment on the fact that Megan would not do well in prison.

01:48:34 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 6:

No, Megan, I'm sorry. I love you. But you would definitely be the bitch. I watch documentaries about diving in the ocean, and it doesn't mean I can do it.

01:48:42 - 01:48:43 | Unknown:

Okay. Okay.

01:48:43 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay. Fair, but out of anybody on the show, I have the skills. I know how to turn my bunk into a grill by using wires in the outlets. Like, I know how to do that. I know how to smuggle in stuff, and I think I just have more. I could make a toilet phone. I know how that works. I can fish for stuff from other cells. I'm resourceful. Everybody else on this show would be miserable, and I think I would have a good time.

01:49:09 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 5:

Megan does seem tougher than she looks, but then she opens up her mouth, and she's so sweet when she opens up her mouth. But you do look like you're, she does look like she's tough, doesn't she, when she first comes upon you?

01:49:19 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 3:

I think I could kick somebody's ass.

01:49:21 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 5:

Matthew, what are your thoughts on this one here? Who would be the top dog, Matthew?

01:49:27 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 2:

I don't know about top dogs, but I got to say with the same side, whoever says they're top dog, his bottom. Rule number one, rule number one, loudest mouth gets shut down the fastest.

01:49:41 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 5:

And wait, have you ever been in?

01:49:44 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 2:

No. No, but I've had multiple families, members, and friends go in and out.

01:49:48 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 5:

Okay. And you know exactly from their experience. Amanda, hi, Mojo in the Morning. Amanda, you've been in. Amanda has been in prison. I love it.

01:49:59 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Hey, guys.

01:50:00 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 4:

first time caller long time listener is it wait is it the first time that you're calling us because you didn't get privileges to call and that's why this is the first time because i can relate to

01:50:12 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

this subject unfortunately um yeah i've actually you know i i did some time um uh years ago and it's not what you guys think it is and i definitely think megan can she could definitely hold her own You go in there, you mind your business, you do what you got to do, you do your time, and you get out.

01:50:30 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, when you were in, what did they call the woman who was like the, kind of the head of the... The matriarch. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah.

01:50:41 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 3:

They probably called her Mama.

01:50:43 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 4:

Mama. Could you imagine, would everybody be calling Megan Mama?

01:50:46 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 3:

When you're good to Mama. No, she would probably be one of Mama's children.

01:50:54 - 01:50:54 | Unknown:

No.

01:50:54 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 3:

But Megan could definitely, I can't relate to men's prisons, but I know the women's prison. Definitely, you go in, it's definitely not like the orange is the new black. There's nothing, there's no comparison.

01:51:07 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys have sex with each other all the time? Like, do you guys honestly?

01:51:10 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 3:

I didn't have sex with anybody, but there was definitely that kind of stuff going on for sure.

01:51:14 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 4:

Really? For sure. So how did you keep yourself from being somebody's lover? Because I always hear about them guys' prisons where guys just all of a sudden become somebody's lover.

01:51:22 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 3:

No, not me, not me. No, I went in and I wasn't looking for a lover. I was looking to do my time and get out. That's it.

01:51:29 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 4:

What did you do to get in? I'm so inquisitive. Yeah, sorry, Shannon.

01:51:32 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 3:

I was actually a former substance abuse shooter and been eight years clean. Oh, good for you. So, yeah. Yeah, so I, you know, I was doing stuff I shouldn't have been doing back in the day. And it led me to places, but it saved my life. So it was all good. It was all good. It all, it worked out in the end.

01:51:52 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 4:

And do you think my son looks like a lesbian?

01:51:57 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be completely honest with you. I haven't seen him. Lesbian. Yeah, do me a favor.

01:52:01 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 4:

Only from behind. Check him out. Joe, what's your social? Joe Show Sucks. Joe Show Sucks. Go check him out and tell me.

01:52:11 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm going on there right now. As soon as we hang up, I'm going on there.

01:52:13 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

He's the non-masculine white guy that's in the pictures.

01:52:16 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys so much. We love you, too.

01:52:20 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 4:

Love you. Thank you. Sam, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:52:25 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I think Megan would do great in prison because she smokes weed, so she'd be able to get the girls, you know, she knows how the food she was saying. She'd be able to run it, get the girls doing whatever she wants.

01:52:39 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 4:

And you know this firsthand because?

01:52:43 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, I've never been to jail, but my brother's in jail, and I've watched lots of crime shows also, and jail shows. So I can just, I know, she would do good

01:52:53 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 4:

Alright, yeah, Megan would actually be alright Although Megan would be fighting for cigarettes, wouldn't she?

01:52:59 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, for sure, for sure But I also think, like, I could do 60 Days In Like, I think I could do it Totally

01:53:05 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 6:

For sure

01:53:06 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call, I appreciate it Hold on, Kayla, you're on with the Mojo in the Morning show And the Joe Show, and what's up?

01:53:15 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I think you guys are all crazy Megan's totally got this

01:53:19 - 01:53:20 | Unknown:

Thank you

01:53:20 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 1:

She would be totally fine. None of you guys would be okay.

01:53:25 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 5:

I think that's true.

01:53:26 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 4:

I think you're absolutely right. Shannon would be like, where's the Trader Joe's?

01:53:32 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 2:

There's no dollar spot in here in the commissary. What the heck? Yeah, it would not be good.

01:53:38 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 4:

Kayla, say hi to Joe.

01:53:41 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Joe. Miss you. I miss you more.

01:53:45 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 4:

You got to go check him out.

01:53:47 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 6:

I know.

01:53:48 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Go visit him in Florida. And actually, do you listen to them in the afternoon on Channel 955?

01:53:53 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm at work.

01:53:55 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you got to listen. Listen in the afternoon. I know.

01:53:57 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 1:

I know.

01:53:58 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 4:

By the way, ratings just came out in the radio station, number one across the board, including the afternoon show, number one across the freaking board.

01:54:07 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 5:

That's dope.

01:54:07 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 4:

How exciting is that?

01:54:10 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing. Well, obviously, it's the immense effort that Ashley Jett and I put in. Not all the music that Sean and Tony program.

01:54:20 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, out of you, Jed and Ashley, who would do the best in prison?

01:54:25 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, dang. Probably Jed, but like... Ashley. Ashley for sure. 10,000% Ashley. Ashley for sure. No, Ashley's too, and I don't know where Ashley went, but like Ashley's too nice about things. I just think like being nice isn't, that's the problem. Everyone's like way too nice that we hang around. Jed would go in. There needs to be someone like who.

01:54:49 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, Jed would wait.

01:54:50 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 6:

Is Jed right there? Well, I can go get Jed. No. Jed is the jujitsu guy.

01:54:55 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 4:

Jed would be.

01:54:56 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's true.

01:54:57 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 4:

Jed would sit there and talk their ear off so much that they'd be.

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 6:

Be like, all right, shut up and go back in your cell, you know?

01:55:02 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 3:

Hey, would you last in prison? Do you think you'd like, or do you be someone's bitch? I was actually watching a guy who admitted to some prison stuff, and I don't think I could handle it. Not at all. I'd be like the weak link, and they would abuse me and have their way with me, and I wouldn't accept it. And you would be, you would accept it.

01:55:23 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 5:

Miss you, Jed. We'll talk to you later, okay? Bye, guys. See you, buddy. See you guys. Love you guys. We'll see you later.

01:55:28 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, I love you. Mike from Mojo in the Morning, the pride of building high school, building the home of Gus Macker basketball, loves a cow crap. And Mike from Mojo in the Morning, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:55:44 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 6:

I can't believe I'm making you guys wait for this next topic or subject to be brought up on the radio. Because this is one that could be breaking dirty news for you, Shannon. I know. I know you got the dirty coming up here. We might have breaking dirty news for you. Did you know that Mike from our show, who you just heard just a moment ago, is the pride of Belding High School, the pride of West Michigan, might have dated one of the biggest stars right now in the world. So putting a bunch of things together here, Mike, and don't tell us until the very, very end.

01:56:26 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:56:26 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 6:

But what is this that made you think that you dated a superstar?

01:56:32 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I don't know if you've ever, like, years later found out that your ex is doing something, like, incredible or amazing or you had no idea they were going to be something or, like, do this certain thing and then they ended up being this huge superstar. So my ex, who now lives in Florida, she used to work at Jude's Barbershop right here in downtown Grand Rapids. so at that point we didn't know it at the time but Devin Booker's the NBA superstar from the Phoenix Suns who is from West Michigan his mom ran that Jude's Barbershop so he would come in all the time and we would chat or whatever and we'd hang out with his mom all the time all the time you know fast forward to now he's dating Kendall Jenner she's still really close with his mom and him and goes to the games all the time and i think hangs out with them all the time and then out of nowhere she has just disappeared this was in the last like year or two has just disappeared so this girl that you dated is missing is yeah well i i think i don't think she's missing because nobody's like posted anything about her missing okay but she's just been like she's not you don't see much from her hear much from her anymore and i haven't seen like i'm not necessarily like looking at her stuff all the time but it's all blocked it's all like uh facebook and everything because i'm convinced that she somehow is and i don't know if i could say the person yet but she is somehow a famous superstar right now and has transformed and made up this entire story and tell your background story because I went to this person's Wikipedia and is this person because she has the connections to do it now. In a million years, I would have never guessed that any of this would roll out the way it did, but she hangs out with Devin Booker and, I guess, Kendall Jenner at the time. So hold on a second. I'm trying to figure this out.

01:58:27 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you believe, let me just recap for those who are confused by your story. You believe that your ex-girlfriend has secretly transformed into a music superstar that we're all listening to right now.

01:58:44 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 4:

50-50. There's like a 50-50 chance. 50-50 chance.

01:58:48 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and she's shut down all of her social media accounts and such because she doesn't want anybody deep diving her past real life.

01:58:57 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 4:

That's what I went down a rabbit hole of believing, yes.

01:59:00 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 6:

So the celebrity is not going by the same name that she was when you were dating her. She's got a different name. Mm-hmm. Completely different name. Okay.

01:59:09 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 1:

A question.

01:59:10 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 6:

Mm-hmm.

01:59:10 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 1:

Is this the ex that you kept the panties from in that drawer that Allie first put in?

01:59:16 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 6:

First off, how do you remember stuff like that? Well, Allie's definitely talked to us before about that.

01:59:20 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, because now I'm thinking we should have saved him and we could put him up for sale on eBay.

01:59:23 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 6:

Yes, it was that. But you're gone. It is.

01:59:25 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 4:

It was this person? Yes. Wow. Okay.

01:59:28 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 6:

You had her panties at one time.

01:59:30 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:59:30 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 6:

All right. Go ahead, Mike. Do you want to tell us, or should we try to guess? Because I'm trying to put together Devin Booker. Okay. I'm trying to put together Devin Booker, the Kardashians. You know, who is this particular person? Music superstar. I don't know. Mike, go ahead. Tell us. It is, I think she is ice spice.

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

I think she's low-key ice spice. She's not.

02:00:00 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 6:

She's not telling anybody. She's disappeared. She started this whole new life, and she is secretly the rapper Ice Spice.

02:00:07 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 7:

You think that your ex-girlfriend that you dated is Ice Spice? Pretty sure. Or that you dated Ice Spice?

02:00:17 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 6:

Well, I didn't date her when she was Ice Spice. That's her? Yeah. Then go Google Ice Spice. Okay, I am. Hang on. It's really close.

02:00:26 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I know what Ice Spice looks like, but I want to do...

02:00:29 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but for comparison

02:00:30 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 7:

I don't think so

02:00:35 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't Really?

02:00:38 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I could see it I could see you put a wig on her I could see it

02:00:43 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 4:

You think Am I nuts, Megan? No

02:00:48 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 7:

Perfect song Boy's a liar

02:00:52 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 4:

There's a big I just don't know how to say it I don't know how to say it. Yeah. No, it can't be.

02:01:02 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:01:02 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 4:

Mike?

02:01:03 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:01:03 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead and say it, Megan. I'm backing you up. They're not the same race. They're not the same race.

02:01:09 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 3:

They're not the same race, Mike. It can't be the same person.

02:01:12 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 7:

They look very similar. No, they don't, actually. Ice Spice is black, right? Yes. And this girl that you just sent a picture of, yeah, she's not black. No, no, she's Mexican.

02:01:23 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she's Mexican.

02:01:24 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 1:

Mike, what's wrong with you? She looks very similar I want to say right now I am consistently Pinned as the dramatic person Of this show And I want you to know Mike just told a seven minute story Saying that his ex Not black girlfriend Might be Ice Spice

02:01:44 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 6:

She looks very much like Ice Spice

02:01:47 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 1:

No she doesn't You are so nuts

02:01:51 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 7:

Maybe this girl is not on social media The girl that you did say Because she's hiding from you after knowing that Allie was upset about the panty story

02:01:59 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 5:

No, because I'm not I'm not blocked There's just nothing posted Oh man, you're blocked

02:02:07 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 4:

That means you're blocked Yeah

02:02:10 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 7:

Alright

02:02:12 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Miguel

02:02:13 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 7:

I'm sure of it Alright, so here's the deal 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Who Who found out that their ex Actually got very very Successful or famous after They left them they're no longer Together like did you date somebody That now is like you know Doing really great by the way does that Piss you off when that if that happens to you You'll have to call us up and tell us and then With the mic thing We're not we probably don't even need to share It or probably can't even share the pictures Because it's not

02:02:50 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 6:

Her it is not by the way I asked my Ice Spice's team to come at me and say, how did you tell our secret? How did you reveal the true identity of Ice Spice?

02:02:59 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Michael.

02:03:00 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 7:

I think that I dated Cameron Diaz at one time. I just want everybody to know that.

02:03:07 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 6:

It's not that crazy. I feel like it's not that far off. I think it's hysterical that I'm the dramatic one.

02:03:14 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 7:

I know. And by the way, Megan is absolutely right. Mike had us sitting on the edge of our seats for-

02:03:19 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 3:

Mike, how long did you contemplate if they were the same person? Because I seriously think you might need LASIK from Dr. Yaldo I don't know what's going on

02:03:27 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 6:

I went down the rabbit hole for a weekend And I'm like, oh, she was in this state for this long And then I was like, oh, there's a Wikipedia But you can change a Wikipedia You could make up an entire Wikipedia You know what's amazing about this girl?

02:03:40 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 7:

She does look, honestly First off, she's a beautiful girl She is beautiful But she looks more like my buddy Bill Rancic's wife, Juliana

02:03:50 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she does look like Juliana She looks like Juliana Rancic. That is totally who she looks like.

02:03:53 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 7:

Maybe it's her then. A thousand percent. Maybe it's her. Dave wants to comment on the fact that Mike thinks that he dated Ice Spice at one point. What's going on, Mike? Or Dave, I'm sorry. Hey, Mike.

02:04:07 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm Dave. How are you? Good morning, everybody. Good morning.

02:04:10 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 3:

He's fragile. Be nice to him. He's fragile.

02:04:12 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 2:

No, I get it. I get it. So I also know Devin Booker. Let's just say a really, really, really close friend of mine. maybe family, was his brother's rooming at Western. So I have seen all the things, Mike, and I totally feel what you're saying. Like, I feel like I know a Kardashian, too. I know I don't. I know there's no way. But I feel like I'm there also. But, Mike, she's from the Bronx, dude. Her name's Isis.

02:04:44 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, she's, yeah.

02:04:46 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 6:

Says Wikipedia.

02:04:48 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Have you talked to her last year? so mike has mike has this belief that he was dating her you actually are truly a friend and know devin booker and all

02:05:00 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 3:

the people probably that he grew up with i know i know um i know his close friends um people that he have turned into uh managers and people that help his brand uh yeah kind of like lebron took his best friends and uh did that uh devon kind of did the same thing with uh with his brother and his close friends uh so yeah super cool could you do us a favor could you contact him and you have

02:05:23 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 2:

02:05:36 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 3:

same time yeah hey this is ice spice i'm thinking about that i think about mike when i shouldn't

02:05:42 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to throw this in here real quick um because i need to ask you guys this and then maybe the listeners can weigh on on it too uh my kids have a very close relationship with their mother and i totally understand it but at what age can you no longer call your mom mommy because joe who you know from the Joe show, Joe used that word, and I overheard it, and I thought to myself, man, you are a 27, I don't know, something-year-old kid. I had something like that. He's like in his 20s. He's over 25. Let me just put it that way. 25? Listen, when you're over the age of five, you stop calling your kid or you stop calling your mom mommy. No. You know? Like no longer does it become something.

02:06:47 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 1:

No, I agree with you.

02:06:48 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 2:

You can't do it.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Mommy likey.

02:06:51 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. At a certain age, you can't say mommy. Indefinitely, girls, do not call your dad daddy as a grown woman because that's going to get even weirder when your guys are out at a bar or a restaurant together and everybody's going to think that you are the girl with the older dude. What age? You don't call it. KP, our producer, you're 25 years old, right? You don't call your dad daddy

02:07:19 - 02:07:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm 24 See I don't know anybody's age

02:07:23 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know my kids age

02:07:24 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry I had to call it out No I don't call my dad daddy What about your mom mommy

02:07:31 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 2:

Do you call her mommy

02:07:32 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

No I call her mama Mama Yeah I do that too

02:07:39 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 2:

You can't do mama either Why not Because to me that's also a thing It's got to be mom

02:07:46 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 4:

No, I call her mama.

02:07:47 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Or you call her by her first name.

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Kim? No. Heck no.

02:07:51 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 2:

What about you, Shannon? You say you call your mom mama?

02:07:55 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Mom or mama. My dad, I don't think I've ever called my dad daddy. I mean, maybe when I was little. If I called Tim Murphy daddy, he would run.

02:08:03 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 2:

But then you're also the same person that has weird names where your kids call you and you call your kids and stuff like that too, don't you?

02:08:10 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think every parent has nicknames for their kids.

02:08:12 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, I know, but you always, I mean, at a certain age, you're going to have to stop

02:08:15 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 1:

that. Bubby is going to be Bubby forever and ever. Poor kid. That's Smith. You want Bubby to get his ass beat? I actually asked him the other day. I said, is it still okay that I call you Bubby? And he said, yes.

02:08:26 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 4:

There's going to be a time though. I had an ex who his mom used to call him Bubby too. Yeah. It's kind of endearing. How old was

02:08:31 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 2:

this guy that you were dating?

02:08:34 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're asking me. No, he was... No, I'm not. I'm asking Bubby. No, he was in his 20s, like early 20s.

02:08:41 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 2:

That didn't seem weird to you? That his mom was calling him Bubby?

02:08:44 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 4:

I thought it was kind of cute at first

02:08:48 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 1:

My dad still calls me by my childhood nickname Which is Weezer That's cute I have asthma But yeah, all the time In fact, if we called him right now That's how he would answer the phone Yeah, he's done that

02:08:59 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

I remember that Yeah, he always does Megan, your dad You don't call him daddy, do you?

02:09:04 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I call him I don't even call him dad I call him Scott Mack Yeah First and last Never Scott Scott Mack Actually, when I do when I'm trying to be endearing to my dad, I call him papa. He's my papa. And if I'm trying to get his money, I call him daddy. So I'm like, daddy. But that's your trying to be funny. Very much so. It's not real. You want to pay my mortgage this month?

02:09:27 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 1:

I mean, there are legitimately like 25-year-old girls that call their dads daddy. And it makes me like, That's so weird to me.

02:09:35 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 5:

And then I just don't call my mom, so.

02:09:39 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 2:

That's a therapy session for another day. By the way, The whole idea that it's weird to call your dad daddy But it's not weird to call your mom mommy Mama Mama Makes no sense

02:09:52 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Mommy's even kind of weird I don't know Definitely not as weird as daddy Then why does mama okay But if a girl called her dad dada We would be

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 2:

You're so right. Are you okay? Yeah, no, you're right.

02:10:03 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 6:

Rebecca?

02:10:04 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:10:05 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's up?

02:10:06 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

What's up? I'm 25 years old, and I still call my dad daddy. I'm daddy public. No, do you get weird looks if you do it in public? I try not to do it in public. I'll call him something different, but my boyfriend of five years, that was a real adjustment at first when we started dating.

02:10:25 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 6:

Man, I don't know. You've got to be careful of that. Do you ever get weird looks when you're doing it in public? Do people give you that look like, uh-oh, she's dating an older dude?

02:10:36 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. It probably happened once or twice, but, you know, people can think what they want.

02:10:41 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if I want them thinking that, though. You know, I know you're okay with it, but if I had a daughter and she was in her 20s and she called me daddy, I would sit at a separate table.

02:10:55 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 5:

marlene what's going on good morning everybody good morning marlene when i speak of my mother i call her mommy sometimes when i'm not talking to her i do she has been the sole um backbone my entire life she has loved me when i haven't loved myself

02:11:14 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 6:

she will always be my mommy oh well i can't make fun of that yeah i know that's very nice

02:11:21 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 5:

So, I mean, there's only so many people in this world that you want to keep that connection from when you were a child You want to keep that safeness, that warm feeling, and she's that person

02:11:34 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 6:

Here's the thing, though, that's interesting to me, though Where we don't find it weird, or Shannon doesn't find it weird to call, you know, your mom, mom, or mommy, or whatever But she finds the song Butterfly Kisses weird

02:11:50 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 4:

So it's the cringiest song out there.

02:11:52 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, the reason why it's the weird to call your father daddy is because, you know, you call daddy daddy.

02:12:02 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 6:

No, no, I don't understand. Can you please explain that to me?

02:12:05 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 2:

I love how you're trying to change your face, too.

02:12:07 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 6:

Sandra, what's going on?

02:12:09 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 2:

By the way, and I know you agree with me on Butterfly Kisses.

02:12:11 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 6:

Butterfly Kisses.

02:12:12 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 2:

That song weirds me out, and I know it weirds you out, too.

02:12:15 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 6:

And by the way, if you go to a restaurant or bar and there's a girl calling her dad daddy and listening to Butterfly Kisses, then we definitely need to call the police. Thumbs up. Sandra, hi. I'm sorry.

02:12:24 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes. So I call my dad, Daddy, still, and my mom, Mommy, and I'm 30. So why is that weird? Like, if I don't have a daddy to call Daddy, then who else would I be calling him? So what happens when you do find a daddy to call Daddy? I don't know. So now you see how it's weird. I think you answered the question. It's my daddy. So if he's not, I mean, if I do find a guy and he's not really a daddy, then I wouldn't be calling him daddy.

02:12:57 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 6:

But it's all in the inflection. Like, it's, hey, daddy, like, daddy, but, or daddy. Like, you know what I mean? Oh, my God. Like, daddy. Hey, daddy. Like, if I can hear, I'm like, hey, daddy. Let me hear you do it sexy, Sandra.

02:13:13 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 5:

Daddy. That's not how you say it right.

02:13:17 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, you don't do it like that when it's your old man, right?

02:13:21 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 3:

No. Daddy, what's going on? Has he ever said, stop calling me that? No. Okay.

02:13:29 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm making sure that the inflection is different. Imani.

02:13:34 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:13:35 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:13:36 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just explaining that I call my daddy, daddy, because that's all I ever called him. And I don't mean it in no sexual way. He know I'm the oldest, so I'm going to always say daddy. But I'm not calling my mama mama. Like, I just can't do it. I'm going to call her mama. What do you call her? Split it. Mama. Like, mama. Mama.

02:13:56 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 6:

Mama. Yeah.

02:13:58 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 4:

Like, if I really want something, and I'll be like, ma, if I really, like, want to talk to her, I'm like, all right, mama, let me talk to you real quick. But I'm always telling my daddy, daddy, I need some money. Daddy, I need to get some money. Yep, there you go.

02:14:11 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 2:

That's it.

02:14:12 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh, Marty. What's going on, Marty? How we doing? You know, Marty, I'm just sitting here going, man, oh, man. I'm shaking my head at these responses today.

02:14:22 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. I call my mom K-Rox. Like, whenever she gets mad at someone and starts getting at someone, I just start laughing. Just call her K-Rox. And so that name is stuck. And all my friends in my family call her K-Rox. What's her first name? Karen. Oh, okay.

02:14:39 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 6:

All right. Call her Karen. That will just piss her off. Right? Yeah. That will be something that would bother her. what's up debbie hey guys good morning good morning what are your thoughts on this

02:14:50 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 5:

well my 12 year old son calls my husband his dad he still calls him daddy

02:15:00 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

And?

02:15:01 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 3:

I just think that's weird. I don't know. It's normal for him. He calls me mom and daddy. And he has older brothers and sisters, and they think it's really weird, too. Wait a second.

02:15:12 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 4:

So he calls his dad daddy, but calls his mom mom.

02:15:18 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he calls me mom.

02:15:19 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 4:

Why does he not call you mommy? He doesn't feel like.

02:15:23 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he never has. When he was little, it was mama. And then it just went to mom. But when he was little, he called his dad, Daddy, and he just stuck with it.

02:15:31 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 1:

Are you worried about him getting made fun of? Is that what you're saying?

02:15:34 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, like yesterday we were in the car, and, you know, it's just him and I. And he'll say, you know, where's Daddy at? Or are we going to go fishing with Daddy? And I just think, I was like, how long are you going to call him Daddy for? You know how you stop that? Yeah.

02:15:47 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 4:

Tell him he's not his Daddy. Stop it.

02:15:50 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:15:51 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 1:

You are not. My husband will kill me.

02:15:54 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just tell him. Say, say, I just wanted, I got something that I would need to tell you. And then send them off to school. Tell them to have a great day.

02:16:01 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. All right. Take care of yourself. All right. Have a great day, guys. All right. You too.

02:16:07 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. It seems to me like a lot of people are texting in and a lot of people are calling in. It must be like a, I don't know, it must be like a thing that's in families or something like that. Like certain families. Like my family was not a mommy or daddy family. Like it really wasn't that kind of thing. Neither were we. But then there are other families that are very, you know, they're kind of like that, weird like that. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Mike, it's a superstition since your childhood. You still do it, and you want to know if there are others that have, like, weird superstitions that they do?

02:16:42 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. I don't know if anybody does this when they see a penny on the ground and it's heads up, but you immediately pick it up. Like, I stop everything I'm doing. It doesn't matter what it is I'm doing. I could be in the middle of a conversation, walking down the road. In the middle of the road, if I see a penny, I'll at least walk over to it, pick it up, look at it. If it's heads up, I'll keep it. If it's got the birth year of myself, I have a jar for it, so I'll put it in a jar. And then once I had kids and got married and stuff, now if it's my wife's birth year or their birth year, I also take them and put it in a jar as well. And it's, it's, it like, in my head, it makes my, yeah, in my head, it makes my day better.

02:17:22 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 4:

You're like particular. So I always just pick up the heads up ones and I always leave the tails up ones down because I, for some reason was told that that was like bad luck, but I've never looked at the years of the coins that I have.

02:17:36 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh yeah. If it's tails up, I flip it over so that somebody else can walk up to it and have good luck.

02:17:40 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 4:

Does somebody know, by the way, what I can do with a whole jar full of change? because I was going to go bring it to the Coinstar machine that they had at Kroger and I didn't realize how much money they take at that thing.

02:17:53 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 1:

Can't you turn it into gift cards and not be penalized?

02:17:56 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? I didn't know that. I mean, I'll do that.

02:17:58 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 1:

I know my sister turns all hers into gift cards.

02:18:00 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 4:

That's a great idea. I'm so superstitious, Mike. There's a long list of superstitions like tying shoes and making sure that you have your shoes tied.

02:18:10 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 1:

You know what I did the other day? I realized I still do from when I was a kid I can't even remember why we used to do it When I drive past a cemetery I hold my breath And that was a thing I honestly can't remember Where it stems from It's almost involuntary at this point I do it every single time The kids asked me about it the other day And I was like oh my god I still do this

02:18:33 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 5:

I do remember as a kid we did it But you're absolutely right There's no reason behind it

02:18:38 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 4:

We always would make the sign of the cross If we drove by a cemetery or if we saw an ambulance or a fire truck or something like that. Yeah. That was always kind of like the little superstition that we did. I can't believe, though, that you actually pick up the coins and just look for the years, and then you'll – even if it's like a dime or a quarter, will you put it back down? No, just pennies. Okay. Because dimes and quarters, it's instantly in my pocket. If it's a silver. I don't even care what it is. Yeah. Heads or tails? It's going in my pocket. What's going on, Amanda?

02:19:10 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I was just calling to let you guys know that whenever I see a coin that's tails up, I flip it, and then I leave it so the next person can get good luck. Just like Mike.

02:19:20 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. That's a lot of work, though. Do you have to see what it lands on, though?

02:19:24 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 5:

You don't flip it. I mean, I can just turn it over.

02:19:27 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you flip it over. I thought you flipped it like they do in football to see who's going to get the ball first.

02:19:33 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 2:

No. No.

02:19:35 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What's going on, Raquel? Raquel, how you doing?

02:19:40 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 2:

Hello, good, how are you?

02:19:42 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 4:

Good, what's up?

02:19:43 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 2:

First time caller.

02:19:45 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 4:

Yay, a lot of them, I love it. We've been getting a lot of first times lately.

02:19:48 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 2:

I heard that.

02:19:50 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 3:

You guys were just talking about how you were holding, Shannon was holding her breath for the cemetery. I did that when I was younger, and.

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 2:

And my dad actually had to turn out of traffic because...

02:20:06 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 3:

Turn down your radio. Turn down your radio, Raquel. It'll screw you up.

02:20:09 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 2:

Can you hear me?

02:20:10 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, turn down your radio. It's going to screw you up. Just listen on the phone.

02:20:13 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the radio was up. I was like, it's echoing like crazy. But I had to turn out of... My dad turned out of traffic because he was afraid I was going to stop breathing. Oh, God.

02:20:19 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Was it a big funeral or cemetery?

02:20:23 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, right on Airport Highway in Holland, right where the cemetery is. There's a stoplight right there, and, yeah, we were in debt. He was like, okay, I'm just going to turn out then, and we'll take a different road.

02:20:36 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 3:

Mike, okay, so people are texting saying, we used to hold our breaths when we passed the cemetery so that the ghosts don't enter your body, so they don't steal your soul. That's what it was. I still do.

02:20:48 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 1:

I would have not held my breath just to hope that they would have stolen my soul, to see if you can experience it, you know? What's up, Mike? Listener Mike.

02:20:58 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 6:

Hey. Hey, first-time caller.

02:21:00 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. I love it. Man, I'm running out of air horn. I actually have to – I might have to go and get myself a new one at the sporting store. What's up?

02:21:10 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just wanted to call in because I do something similar to what Mike on the show does. When I find a penny that tails up, I look around, though, because I was always taught no one can see you flip it, so it's got to be like a secret. So that way they don't know if it's heads up or down.

02:21:22 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 1:

How old are you, Mike?

02:21:24 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm 30.

02:21:25 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 1:

As a 30-year-old man, don't you find it kind of weird that you're actually having to look around like you're doing something wrong?

02:21:32 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 5:

No. See, I've almost been hit by a bus to pick up a coin because I'm a new mid-vented coin collector.

02:21:39 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 1:

Really? The man almost killed himself to pick up a coin. I love to know that there are guys that still coin collect. Oh, heck yeah.

02:21:49 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 5:

It's still alive. It's actually more popular than ever thanks to COVID. Is it really?

02:21:53 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Wow. My dad was a coin and a stamp collector, and he would do it all the time, and he got really upset that it never passed down to the kids. Becky, what's up?

02:22:02 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 7:

Yes, when you go by a cemetery and hold your breath, did that when I was a kid too, and it's because you don't want to breathe dead air. Oh, that's another one.

02:22:11 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes. What happens if you breathe dead air?

02:22:14 - 02:22:14 | Unknown:

You die.

02:22:14 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 7:

You die.

02:22:16 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 4:

If you go by a cemetery, you do not want to breathe dead air.

02:22:22 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 1:

By the way.

02:22:23 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 3:

We need to go home

02:22:24 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 1:

This is why This is why you don't take edibles This early in the morning I just want you to know that

02:22:33 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 7:

Megan I'm not sure If I had an edible I'd have it I'd take it for sure

02:22:37 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 1:

By the way should we do a special day of the week Where we just do edibles Weed Wednesdays That's a great idea Sponsored by What's going on Cliff

02:22:52 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, guys?

02:22:53 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's the superstition that you do?

02:22:56 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 6:

It was when we were little and you were walking down the street, like a telephone pole or a light pole, and one of us would split the pole. Everybody would get pissed off, like, hey, don't split the pole. What are you doing? It's going to be bad luck. I've never heard of that one. So we have to, like, go back around. Never heard of that one? No. But that's funny. All of us growing up. All of us growing up.

02:23:12 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 1:

I do that with my family. If we're at, like, the airport or the mall, like, where there's a couple of escalators, and if my family goes on one escalator and I went on the other, I make us all go back down and go back on the same escalator. Really? Because I feel like something bad is going to happen to somebody in the family if that doesn't happen. It's like splitting the pole.

02:23:31 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I'll find myself, if it's like a floor that is like a grid or even on the sidewalk, like you inadvertently, you're not even realizing that you're purposely not trying to step on the grass.

02:23:41 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's the same thing. Cliff, if you split the pole, you have to go back and redo it all over again, right?

02:23:49 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Nobody in the group will let you continue that walk with us. Everyone stops with Rick and Will. It becomes a big problem.

02:23:55 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Grandma would slap you upside the head, wouldn't she, if you didn't?

02:23:59 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. Grandma was one of those people that would literally grab us by the ear and say, you got to go back. You have to go back. And it was not a game. So, yeah, we carried that all the way up until, like, my kids. Now, I'll mess with them. I'll say, hey, don't split that pole.

02:24:16 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call, man. I appreciate you, Cliff. Thanks, guys.

02:24:18 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 7:

uh abigail what's up hi hey what's happening uh not much well i got a superstition for a year that i had since i was a kid yeah what was it well i spit on the broom whenever it touches my feet

02:24:37 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 1:

you spit on the broom what so yeah yeah so the broom that you use to sweep your floors to keep your house clean you actually have saliva all over it no i clean it once a week oh you do okay

02:24:53 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

what is the superstition why do you need to spit on the broom all right so whenever the Supposedly sweeps your foot It says that you're supposed to Go to jail later in your life If you don't spit on it

02:25:08 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 2:

I feel like someone was playing a trick on you And they haven't let it up yet Do you have any

02:25:13 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 3:

My entire family does this

02:25:15 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 2:

Anybody in your family have to go to jail And this happened to

02:25:18 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

My mom said that her uncle went to jail After she swept his foot Wait

02:25:26 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 2:

What did he Do you think this was her way of not telling you what he did for his crime? Oh, it could be.

02:25:34 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 3:

Could be. You know what you need to do?

02:25:40 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 2:

Google your uncle. Is that who you said it was?

02:25:44 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

He died in prison.

02:25:45 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you Google his name because I guarantee you there's a fun story of why he went to prison.

02:25:51 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 3:

I'll call you back tomorrow and tell you what it was. Thank you.

02:25:55 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 2:

If you're weird, crazy, sometimes stupid and clingy, you're just like us. This is Mojo in the Morning. There's a thief in Megan's house. And I think we know who that thief is. It's Coraline, her dog. No. No?

02:26:16 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 1:

I wish she'd probably be easier to deal with, right? You can just kick her to the backyard. It can't seem to do that with the real thief. Which just happens to be my best friend I feel like you need to preface this And be like I love my brother But I am on the verge Of committing murder

02:26:33 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 2:

By the way The picture on our Facebook Instagram and stuff of you guys When you guys were out The night before last Is great of the two of you guys hanging out with each other I feel like you guys need a reality show

02:26:48 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 1:

No No Because I think people would be honestly surprised to know how nasty we can be to each other, which I think we find funny, but other people would be like, wow, that's, that's intense. What's the age difference with you guys? Six years. He's six years older than me, even though everybody thinks he's the baby, which is. Yeah. He does have a baby face though.

02:27:11 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Do you hate that by the way? Oh. I mean, women already hate the fact that people think that they, you know, are aged differently than men or, you know, it's always like the guys lose weight faster than women, you know, stuff like that but to have your own brother your older brother looked like your younger brother

02:27:28 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 1:

really has got to piss you off i think the most disrespectful part is like a lot of people just assume we're close in age because we're close together and then when i'm like oh no there's six years between eyes and then people look at both of us and i go it's not obvious six years is a lot of years you guys it's more the question because they know it's rude to ask But at that point, we've all realized you want to ask. And the answer is I'm the youngest one. Thank you very much. I'm useful.

02:27:55 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 2:

Let's get to the to the theft part of this one, because I think that there's a lot of listeners that check out our show every single day that when we talk about certain things, you guys can relate to things more than others. Right. This is one of those ones where I know that there's a lot of people who live in a home or an apartment with some any roommate or whoever it might be you can relate to. And that is the food theft.

02:28:19 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 1:

And it's not a one-time situation. When I tell you my brother steals all of my food, I mean he steals all of my food. I love the day after Valentine's Day because that's the day I get to go out and buy myself all the fancy chocolates I would not pay full price for. Get them half off. Well, I bought this, like, huge box of chocolates for myself, and he ate 48 out of the 50 pieces of chocolate. it and it's driving me nuts and then uh just constantly here's here's something oh he would be so mad to know that i said this on the air but i'm mad at him so i'll say it we have to have separate jars of peanut butter in the house because we have nearly come to fistfights over the peanut butter jar and who ate all of the freaking peanut butter because he'll eat it all so i have to physically hide a jar of peanut butter in my house just so he won't eat it all I call him my little, like, what's a creature that eats everything at night? Raccoons? He's the little raccoon that lives with me. Because every morning I wake up and something is just inevitably gone. Whether it's my leftover wings, whether, I just can't have anything in the house. It got to the point where the man started putting food in my own bedroom while I wasn't there. And shutting the door just so, he didn't have to see it. Because if he saw it, he'd probably be tempted to eat it. And I'm like, my room is not a pantry. I have a pantry. Leave it in the pantry.

02:29:46 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

It's driving me nuts. Do you have to hide food from him? Because this is something that's always funny is when people will say that they have to hide food from family members, like brothers or sisters or parents with their children, you have to hide the food.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 4:

food so that they don't eat it because then when you want to go eat it it's never there like the

02:30:04 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 7:

chocolate like you should have hid the chocolate from him oh but that why is that my responsibility it should be your responsibility as an adult to have some self-control okay because you don't just walk into a store and go you know what you should lock everything up i'm here yeah well you

02:30:20 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

know what now now you have to know you have to you have to treat your food at home like the razors At Walgreens It's behind the plastic

02:30:29 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 6:

I need a padlock in my own kitchen You only get in in these hours Other than that You've got to pace yourself

02:30:36 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 4:

844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 So how many chocolates did he eat?

02:30:42 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 7:

48 out of the 50 pieces He left you two 48 And he didn't leave me two I just took two and put the box away And then he ate the other 48

02:30:53 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys remember when you When you were growing up and you got boxes of chocolates for, like, whatever occasion or your parents did, would you bite the bottoms to see what the filling was inside and then put it back if it wasn't the strawberry stuff? Because that was the only one that I would actually eat.

02:31:09 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 4:

It was Fannie Mae chocolates for us, okay? And what we would do is we would, and my kids do it too sometimes because my sisters will buy it still because Fannie Mae is like a Chicago thing. They'll put their finger on through the thing. Like, they'll poke their finger through it to see if they got the milk chocolate with the vanilla inside of it.

02:31:25 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, see, I liked the strawberry, and I would just bite a little corner of the bottom, and if it wasn't the strawberry. If it didn't have, like, the guide.

02:31:31 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 4:

So it looked like you had rats in your house.

02:31:32 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 2:

You know, now they're fancy, and they've got the guide, and it tells you which one is which.

02:31:37 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 4:

Blake, what's going on? How you doing? Hey, Blake. Hi, how you doing? Good. Blake, quick question for you. We're going to say this, because Megan's brother's name is Sean. Who's the Sean in your house?

02:31:53 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, that would be my old roommate.

02:31:55 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:31:56 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 3:

My wife actually kept a pantry in her bedroom closet just to keep people from stealing her food.

02:32:05 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 4:

So your wife?

02:32:05 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like shelves and everything, pantry. Full pantry.

02:32:11 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 4:

And wait, when she said from keeping people from eating the food, is she keeping you from eating the food? Or is she keeping, like, do you have roommates?

02:32:18 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 3:

we used to have roommates and they would eat everything oh yeah whatever it was like our

02:32:25 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 4:

food was their food that's amazing that's a genius thing for apartment complexes and built and you know builders of homes put a refrigerator and put a pantry in the bedroom with a padlock on

02:32:38 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 6:

it i am not in college no what's up michelle hi how you doing good how are you good who did

02:32:47 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 2:

you have to hide food from? My husband. What specifically do you have to hide? What's he

02:32:53 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 8:

love? Everything. Cookies, gummy candy. One of our first dates, I left gummy candy at his house. And the next day that I came over, I was like, hey, where's the candy? He was

02:33:06 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 2:

like, I ate it all. I was like, what? Bastard. Where's your hiding spot? I have a spot in

02:33:15 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 8:

the pantry behind everything and there's still halloween candy back there so you know what i

02:33:21 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 5:

think my wife does this too but she puts it on a shelf that's too high for me to reach

02:33:26 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 4:

she knows i won't get a stool again michelle that's what you need you need to have a husband that's a little smaller than you oh that's great yeah it's like it's like children you got to have you know you put everything you know strategically higher what's what's up rob how you doing

02:33:45 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 1:

i'm doing good guys i love listening to the show good nice to talk to you love you too thank you buddy we appreciate it mike can probably maybe attest to this because he's got the younger kids um but the kids are the steve like me and my fiance got a room downstairs and they have the upstairs room so like sometimes we go to bed before them because we got to work and of course their kids, sometimes they try and stay up, and you come up the next morning, and there's certain food gone, so they're the

02:34:16 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 5:

skis. Yeah, you know that cupboard that's right above the fridge that nobody knows what it's for? Yes, it's like a half cupboard. Yeah, that's where everything that the kids can't get to go. Yeah.

02:34:26 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Dude, we got it, man. It's crazy. Sometimes they're like the night raccoons, for sure. Yes, the night raccoons.

02:34:32 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 4:

Rob, thanks, buddy. You're welcome. Appreciate the call. What's up, Jill? Hi. Hey, what's going on?

02:34:40 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 9:

Well, I have a funny story about food going missing in the refrigerator, my fancy leftovers, and so often my food was picked through, I would go to eat it the next day, so I got tired of it, and I wrote a note, I said, I have strategically placed a booger in this food.

02:35:00 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 5:

So I got up the next day to a note back to me that said, now there are two. No.

02:35:10 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 6:

That is so funny. Joelle, what's up?

02:35:15 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 3:

So my boyfriend will literally eat anything. If I buy anything for myself, like candy, whatever. So I got an empty tampon box, and I would put that in the bedroom so he wouldn't go into it.

02:35:28 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's the best. Megan, that's what you got to do. You got to figure that out. Hold on a second real quick. On the phone with us, the world famous. Scott Mick, Megan's dad, is on the phone with us.

02:35:43 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you guys doing today?

02:35:44 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 6:

We're doing good. Question for you. Is this something common that your son steals food from also you too?

02:35:52 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. I've gotten to the point now when I bring leftovers home from a restaurant, I actually put them in the crisper. He doesn't go looking for fruits and vegetables. He only looks for leftovers. Yeah. It's the only place to hide anything from him. But he's not a raccoon. He's like a vacuum. Whatever is available. It's just amazing the amount of food he eats. It's unbelievable how much he eats. It's not a genetic trait.

02:36:20 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 6:

Wow. So did you ever have to hide stuff in your bedroom, kind of like how Megan was talking about it and people were talking about hiding in their bedroom?

02:36:29 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 4:

I should have. And I always felt bad for Megan because I traveled quite a bit. When I first got divorced, I was traveling a lot. And on Sundays, I would try to make a big meal so there was food for the kids to eat while I was gone. Yeah. One Sunday in particular, I cooked two roasts. These are five-pound roasts I cooked out on the grill. So that night, we probably ate maybe half of one of those roasts, maybe half, probably not. So we had a whole meal with it. The next morning I got up, the other two were gone. All of the meat was gone. I can't imagine eating eight pounds of meat in one year. Fathom that. He ate eight pounds of meat. Oh, my God. That makes me want to throw up. Eight pounds. I know, right? Yeah. It's like a protein coma. Oh, my God. Yes. Yeah. And he ate the whole damn thing. And he's still, you know, he wears, you know, like tiny pants.

02:37:32 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 3:

He's got tiny pants. Tiny pants. He's the skinniest one. It's so freaking annoying. Oh, yeah.

02:37:38 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 6:

Well, that's the thing. Your metabolism, your guys' metabolism isn't good because you guys aren't able to eat any of this stuff.

02:37:45 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 4:

I know. Jesus. And his. Okay, so, Mojo, when you were 30 years old, your metabolism slowed down, right?

02:37:52 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. Yeah.

02:37:53 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

Not his. I think it's sped up. So I think you could eat 15 pounds now, and it's annoying as hell.

02:38:00 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 2:

Also, do you hear how angry my dad still is? This happened 15 years ago. I'm so mad.

02:38:08 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 5:

But it was eight pounds of beef.

02:38:12 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. Hold on. I got to grab Rachel real quick. Rachel?

02:38:16 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 5:

Yes?

02:38:16 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 6:

What did you buy on Amazon?

02:38:18 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 5:

They have a food locker. It's like a plastic crate with a coat, and you can keep it in your fridge. It's small. Oh, my God. Megan, we've got to get this for you.

02:38:30 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 6:

It's a food locker to hide food from your family members.

02:38:34 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 5:

What do you put in your food locker? My kids will put their leftovers in there because my fiance will eat it when they're sleeping. It will make it mad.

02:38:42 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 6:

The remaining pizza goes right in there.

02:38:45 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 5:

That's exactly what it is to pizza.

02:38:48 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 6:

When I walked into the building today, I looked around like five or six times at the front door. thinking that KP was going to be standing out there opening the door for us.

02:38:59 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 1:

I thought the same thing. And then did you see the little chalk drawing that said hi? I thought, did KP draw that for us?

02:39:05 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 6:

I thought it was KP, too. Who was that?

02:39:07 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't know who it was, but I specifically got to work early so I didn't have to see anybody at the door.

02:39:12 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 6:

If you're not knowing what we're talking about, then go back and listen to the podcast from yesterday where we called out the fact that KP won't hold the door open for us. And when I mean hold the door open, I'm not saying that she has to, you know, physically hold it open. It's just that it'd be nice, like, in the morning, you know, to not have to pull out your key card and swipe the key card. So you can go check that out. But you say that you're an old-fashioned kind of girl. Is that right?

02:39:37 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes, except for the whole door-holding thing. I won't do that. But I just recently finished doing something that my mom had ingrained into my head since I was a kid. And I feel like I'm the only one who does this. i don't know like a handwritten note i just finished writing all of my thank you notes for my birthday party and i do this every

02:40:00 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 3:

year obviously not a birthday party but like just if someone gives me a gift or takes me out or thinks of me i will write them a thank you note and um when was your birthday by the way march 26th and you can make fun of me because it's literally me okay i think it's better better late than never you can always be appreciative yeah all the time and i even like when i was writing i'm like yeah it's late but like i can tailor to the note did your mom used to uh have

02:40:26 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 1:

you do it as a little kid right when you got the gifts because that's what we would do with our boys and chelsea's mom would do with her when she was younger well my mom yeah i would be a

02:40:36 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 3:

little more timely with my mom around but it would be there's no way that if you were having a little

02:40:41 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 1:

girl's birthday party where all your friends came over to your house or you guys had it at like chuck e cheese or whatever that your mom would have let you wait from march 26th to beginning

02:40:50 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 3:

of may no she would have she had my ass at the table and i was writing thank you notes for but you're busy in your defense yeah but mama kp like she was very stern on like specific things and in writing thank you notes and showing appreciation was was one thing then that has stuck with me ever since i always write notes and i always feel special when someone gives it to me

02:41:15 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 5:

i was gonna say when i go out to my mailbox and i see an actual like card or something that somebody wrote i get i actually get excited because you there's it's so few and far between

02:41:24 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 1:

now yeah that you get something like that what's the old-fashioned thing that you still do that's considered to be kind of old-fashioned um the handwritten note is actually a really good thing if you're looking for employment or looking to get a better look at employment nobody ever expects that and you know it's like recently there's like been people that have been uh up for jobs around here and i was having a conversation with uh one of the bosses that was hiring for one of the other radio stations and they were saying that the handwritten note actually got that person the job because they figured if they took the time to write and it was not a thank you so much it was great talking about but it was like specifics and like paragraph a couple paragraphs if they were taking that time to do that they would take the time to do a good job working yeah yeah um i think

02:42:12 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 3:

it's i don't know it just it says a lot more like if you were to send someone a personal text message it doesn't hold as much value than if you were to hold the like the physical note in your hand same with pictures like if you post a picture on instagram you'll be like oh hey i'm tagged that's cool comment but if you got a picture in the mail with you know that someone took the time to print and send to you and say hey i love this memory you're gonna take it and carry it so funny

02:42:37 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 5:

i went to walgreens the other day to actually pick up photos that i had printed and i'm like i can't remember the last time i did this yeah exactly isn't that weird like i used to love Going and putting photos in a photo album And stuff but

02:42:49 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 1:

It's funny that's another one of those old fashioned things Where they still actually develop film

02:42:54 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 5:

At Walgreens and CVS It's so cheap you can do it on the app And it's ready in like 10 minutes So cheap

02:43:01 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy Except you always worry if the CVS guy Is looking at your pictures Don't put anything bad

02:43:10 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Karen what's the old fashioned thing that you still do

02:43:12 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Well I still Write things you know it's like KP does But, Mojo, you got me to thinking I don't know if you had this When you did your first communion And you have the big Catholic families And you get all the gifts And then you're seven years old You barely know a word You have to try to write straight Those thank you notes I am scarred from my first communion thank you notes

02:43:32 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for my crosses I got more crosses Yeah, I would get It was always that You can't always wear those things That or praying hands were always the other one too like people would buy you praying hand statues or the bible moments yeah you know those thank

02:43:51 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 3:

yous that you're like i don't even know this person that well and i have to try and figure out what i'm going to write on this card that's not super lame that's like thank you so much when

02:43:59 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 5:

i got married i remember sitting there and half not half the people but a good chunk of the people i didn't even really know you don't know people well and they still bought you a present well

02:44:07 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 3:

you got the relative that lives across the country that sends you a card every year you know what's

02:44:12 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, you don't send a thank you note for a card, do you?

02:44:15 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, if they give you a gift.

02:44:17 - 02:44:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay, if there's money in the card, yeah. Elena, what's up?

02:44:21 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I just wanted to say I love you guys. I listen to you guys every morning on my way to work. We love you, too. Yeah, thank you. So I just wanted to say I'm 23, and I don't know when this happened, but I started to use old-fashioned phrases, and it's really weird. I'll say, like, oh, my word, or I'll say, gee whiz. And, like, my friends will, like, look at me. Yeah, my friends will look at me, and they're like, what are you saying right now? And I'm like, I don't know. It's just me. It's literally just, I have no idea. It's so weird. It's cute.

02:45:00 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 3:

I do it to be funny because it's just so late.

02:45:02 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 5:

You said one the other day, and I was like, only you could get away with saying that.

02:45:05 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 8:

I can't remember what it was. Juliana.

02:45:08 - 02:45:08 | Unknown:

Hi.

02:45:09 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 8:

Juliana, in the same vein of writing thank you notes, what do you write?

02:45:13 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 3:

So I still write my boyfriend love letters.

02:45:16 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 8:

I do too. That's cute.

02:45:18 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 3:

So the first time I actually said I love you, it was in a letter.

02:45:22 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 8:

Aw. Do you have it on like a special letter, you know, stationary? or do you spray the stationery with your perfume, put kisses on it, like do like a kiss with lipstick?

02:45:33 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I put kisses on it with different lipsticks, yeah.

02:45:37 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 5:

I actually have a box next to my bed that I keep all that stuff in.

02:45:40 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 8:

Like the old ones that you've gotten?

02:45:42 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no. Oh. Oh, you actually have boxes of what, stationery? No, of like cards and letters and stuff.

02:45:49 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 8:

Oh, okay. Well, I don't know where you're going with it. I didn't know. You said you've got a box next to your bed.

02:45:52 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 5:

No, I keep them from my high school boyfriend, my ex-husband.

02:45:56 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 8:

It's in your bedroom?

02:45:58 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:45:58 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 8:

You have a box in your bedroom.

02:46:00 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's like a decorative box.

02:46:02 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 8:

With the love notes that people over the years, including your ex-husband, have sent you.

02:46:05 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 5:

Never mind. You were not listening at all to what I said. What did she say? I said from Wes. I said that would be so weird if I kept them from my ex-husband.

02:46:14 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I thought you said you still had it next to your bed.

02:46:18 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 5:

No, but I do have like a box next to my bed. I have a box too.

02:46:22 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 8:

What's your box next to your bed for?

02:46:24 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 5:

Are you joking right now? Honestly. I just explained it three times.

02:46:28 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 8:

Explain it again to me. You have a box next to your bed with letters that were written to you in the past.

02:46:33 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 5:

No, with like cards and love letters from Wes.

02:46:37 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 8:

Oh, from Wes.

02:46:38 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh. Is Wes words of affirmation? You thought the same thing, KP.

02:46:42 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 8:

You thought it was from all the past.

02:46:44 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I agree. That's what I thought you said. Megan, did I not say two times that would be weird if it was from my ex-husband or ex-boyfriends? Shut up, Megan. Never mind. Megan was with us.

02:46:52 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 4:
