good morning it is the mojo in the morning show hello hello hello uh today is double caffeine day here on the radio program because of what happened to me last night i will explain that to you coming up here in a second first though let me explain that today is wednesday i had to like say that to myself 10 times driving into the station today because we've got five lies tell your mom coming up so make sure you stick around for that also got a lot of good prizes for you tickets to go see drake post malone and ed sharon the big three win tickets to all three concerts that's at 6 30 and 9 30 and then the seven o'clock hour we are giving you uh tickets to see 50 cent in the eight o'clock hour lala palooza so those are your prizes for today as well as uh we'll do the five to 655 and then shannon with a lot of breaking dirtyness man yesterday was a busy day uh and we do even have an update coming up here in just a little bit middle of the night update on that uh sub that was supposed to be uh you know going in the deep deaths depths of oh that was a bad thing of the for uh the um titanic so i watched so much uh on tiktok yesterday about that that's my fascinating that's my uh black hole of uh when i see a story come out like this that i never even knew that you could take a submarine down into the titanic And like I said yesterday on the show, I didn't even realize that the Titanic was off the coast of Massachusetts and stuff. I thought for some reason it was in the middle of nowhere, and that's where it went down. But I didn't realize that it was almost to the Massachusetts area.

00:05:00 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. I'm a little slow today because I got a text message from Luke who is working at a golf course. He's one of those guys that, like, you know, does everything, picks up the golf balls. You know, I think they make him go into maybe the ponds where people hit golf balls or something. Because he's come home a couple of times, and he's, like, all muddy, and he's, like, all wet and stuff. And I'm like, what were you doing? And he goes, I was picking up golf balls. And I'm like, where were you? In the middle of a pond or something? I mean, it's crazy. But he said, no, he was on like a driving range or something. So he said, hey, Dad, and Chelsea's out of town just to give you perspective. Hey, Dad, do you mind if I have a couple buddies over tonight? And I said, yeah, that's cool. No problem. I just remember, you know, I got to go to work in the morning. He goes, oh, no, it's cool. And he gives me the names of them. It's like Evan, Evan, Landon, Paul. and I think that was it. So I go to bed. He doesn't get home from work until 10 or 10, 15 and I can hear him come in the door because he has to turn the house alarm off. And so I'm like, oh cool, he's here. And then I can hear and I keep it on just because I'm a freak like this and I'm worried that if I turn it off, my alarm is my phone. I keep my ring alerts on, you know, where the ring camera up in the front, the doorbell camera goes off. So I have it on so I can hear the dings of like people somehow, you know, walking up to the front door. And there's been occasions where it's woken me up, you know, when like the Amazon guy decides that he's going to deliver toothpaste at three o'clock in the morning. So it keeps going off and going off and going off. And it turns into I'm going to have a few people over to if you look at the the doorbell cam. and here I'll just show you guys just a quick video of this um this is this is them on the doorbell cam this is these guys all walking in okay you see can you see from that can you enlarge it is uh hold on oh yeah let me let me try to unlock can I enlarge it do you want me to put it on an overhead projector too for you I mean if you can I'm sorry you want me to see it I'll tell you what I will Why don't I do this I'll just Shannon could you see I'll Facebook share it to you Okay here you go Here I'm enlarging So this is me Screen sharing this Okay Oh Look at that Okay you see the ants Walking up Alright Then I go to another ring cam Probably about A couple minutes Later Go there

00:07:39 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

00:07:39 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh here comes more Here comes more

00:07:42 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh it's like Trick or treaters On Halloween Yeah That's what it reminds me of

00:07:46 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's like, hold on, hold on, there's more, wait, wait, hold on, we're up to six now, I think? Seven. Hold on, oh, oh, hey, hold on, hey, hold on, where'd that guy come from? What's that guy got there? Wait, hold on a second there, yeah.

00:08:00 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he's waiting for somebody.

00:08:02 - 00:08:03 | Unknown:

Oh, he's waiting for me.

00:08:04 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a Tuesday, bro. Wow.

00:08:06 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

It's a Tuesday night. Could you hear him, or you're just watching this happen?

00:08:11 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

So, I try to go, I'm like, all right, I'm going to go back to bed, so I send him a text message because i you know i don't want to embarrass him and he is going to be in college next year so i sent him a text message i go here's the deal everybody's here nobody leaves until nine o'clock in the morning they all stay here at the house um you guys behave yourselves uh no going outside you know the whole deal like that okay and he's and he's always been really good he never actually has people over honestly because he says that we live too far from his friends because all luke's friends live in shelby township sterling heights rochester hills and clarkston and we live in west bloomfield which is you know it's like 20 plus miles or minutes away so all of a sudden at like one o'clock in the morning i know specifically 110 i hear and i'm like holy christ so i get up i go to the bathroom i fall asleep for another like 30 minutes. And then I hear another woo! Jeez, okay. Fall asleep. So then finally at 2 o'clock in the morning I just decided, screw this. I'm just going to stay up. And I'm not even going to go to bed. And then I decided what I'll do is I'll just like, you know, do a little prep and stuff. I couldn't get anything done.

00:09:30 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

So I decided to watch a little TV. I was wondering why I was getting, I probably got 19 emails from you at like 3 o'clock this morning. And I was so confused what was happening.

00:09:40 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, Shannon, we were having a house party. What was the occasion? Was there like a video game release? Was there? What were they doing? No. I think it was, I don't know. I think it was Tuesday or something. I don't know. Young and turnt. You know what? I don't know. They normally do this over at their buddies.

00:10:00 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 3:

Evan's house and so it's usually at his House where this happens and For some reason it was I think mom's out Of town and that might be the thing Yeah is mom the enforcer yeah Pretty much yes your cool dad That's the thing by the way Shannon brings up a really good point Trying to be cool dad Bit me right in the ass Always and I don't know if anybody's ever Experienced this trying to be the cool parent but how Has trying to be the cool parent You know kind of caused You a little bit of pain but But if I wasn't cool dad, if I was the dad that said, no, you can't have people over at the house, I'm sorry. I would have gotten a good, solid six-hour sleep, you know? But instead, I was cool dad in allowing these guys to all come over to the house. Actually, I heard at one point I got up to go to the bathroom on my own, and I heard, I think your dad's moving upstairs. because i guess my feet are thumping on the on the floor a little bit but i i never had parties really in my house like as a kid i only had one party ever and my sisters let me do it my dad went out of town and my sisters bought me a keg to have a keg party in high school and i was exactly luke's age it was the year going to freshman year of college so i was graduating and it was like my sisters were like you know what you didn't really get to have a high school graduation party so we'll let you do this thing 307 people pat reminds me of it all time we had 307 people that were it was megan my buddy tom barrett was responsible for selling the red solo cups we made 0.0 dollars because every girl got free cups or i wouldn't even know how to tap a keg at

00:11:48 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

that age oh thank you for the keg but how am i supposed to get into it one of our buddies dads

00:11:53 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

owned a party store a liquor store so that was where we ended up getting it and it was and i will never forget it was uh uh miller genuine draft on tap right there into the whole thing and i think i probably had like one sip of beer because i was so worried every time like i felt like uh you know uh what was the what was that movie project x i felt like in project x i was

00:12:16 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

like sitting there don't break that yeah that was my question everything did they ruin the house

00:12:20 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 3:

no can i tell you something so i woke so i finally got up to go to to work this morning i left a little later like at 5 10 or something and i got up i walked they were all sleeping on the floor on couch uh in the basement they were dead asleep there was no garbage anywhere there was actually garbage bags right by the door where luke was obviously going to take them out Oh, my God, what a good day. And there was like stuff. I'm not kidding. First off, the other thing too is the best is on this thing, you can actually see the Taco Bell DoorDash order that they got.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

That was my next question was what did they order?

00:12:55 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 3:

So hold on. I'm going to pull up on – let me see if I got this. Because I think Luke's DoorDash, we let him have a DoorDash on our credit card. I'm going to pull this up here right now. Go look at this. Hold on. How much DoorDash did he order last night?

00:13:11 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 4:

$75. Oh, my God, from Taco Bell?

00:13:13 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 3:

$75.82, a Taco Bell right there.

00:13:18 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Taco Bell.

00:13:19 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

See, I'm a little psycho. I would have looked in the trash. I'm not going to lie.

00:13:23 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 3:

To see if there was like blunts or something. Alcohol, anything in there.

00:13:27 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 2:

You never know, man.

00:13:28 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm guessing that they probably may have had a drink or two, but they didn't have any of our alcohol because I got it all locked up. And then this is the thing that Luke didn't know. I have a bag of many bottles of booze that my buddy Harry over at the Sylvan Market got for me for golfing so I can stick them in my golf bag and stuff instead of having to pay, you know, $12 a drink at the golf course. I like it. So they're in a bag and they were sitting on the kitchen counter. And just to show you that your kids never look at anything that they think is possibly something that they're going to have to clean up afterwards, didn't even go in it. I counted, I have 50 mini bottles in there. And I counted them this morning, 50 of them there. All the lids were tight on there. All the caps were tight.

00:14:16 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 2:

You need to bring those in here.

00:14:17 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

50? No, they're for golf. I'll bring the big ones in for this one. So that would have been the funniest part of the whole thing. And that's the difference between Luke and Joe and Jacob. Because I will remember when Joe had a party similar to this and we were out of town. And Chelsea and I, we didn't have the ring cam at the time, but we did have a camera. And I look on the camera and I'm like, is that Fletch who used to work on the show? Kevin, you never met Fletch? But let me tell you, his name is fitting for him. And I literally saw Fletch on the camera at my son's high school party or just in college party.

00:15:00 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 2:

hanging out so that would have been fitting if all of a sudden i looked down there and i'm like is that mike and kevin you know who's hanging out here with these guys um well i will say this uh to you guys that uh today's gonna be a long day too because i'm going to a tigers game this

00:15:15 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 3:

afternoon oh that's right i heard you talking to our boss about that yesterday yeah so we're going

00:15:19 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 2:

to a tigers game it starts i think at one o'clock and uh i will be probably at the tigers game for

00:15:25 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 3:

about two innings or you'll see him sleeping at comerica and his i've done that before i know you have yeah it's gonna be really hot today too is it really 86 is it just sitting there in the sun

00:15:39 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 2:

i'll tell you this though it's the weather's been great i mean this morning it's absolutely gorgeous if you go outside so it's actually uh pretty nice might see like a stray shower come

00:15:51 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 3:

through but this morning yeah and it's going away and it's more sunshine um all right mojo in the

00:19:29 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 3:

story as am i but the hope of finding that crew on board the missing sub that was on its way to the titanic shipwreck five people including the captain have kind of sort of grown i say there is a little bit of hope because there are some rescue groups now that are reporting, quote unquote, banging sounds in 30 minute intervals near the area where they think this submarine disappeared. The president of the Explorers Club. It was confirmed in a social media post that there is cause for hope because of this. Now, a couple of things here. If that sub has lost power with no working propellers, lights, or heating, the passengers would be in total darkness in temps of around 37 degrees. Now, a lot of experts here say, okay, we might be holding on to some hope. But the crew on that Ocean Gate sub really only has a very, very slight chance of surviving. A former nuclear submarine commander for the U.S. Navy said their chances are around 1%. This is former Coast Guard Captain Andrew Norris.

00:20:36 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 5:

If you do find it, what then? The United States Navy has a command with some submarine rescue vessels. And those vessels are capable of going down and actually physically attaching to a sunken submarine and physically allowing people to be removed from the submarine, they can only operate to a depth, the most capable platform the U.S. Navy has can only operate to a depth of 2,000 feet. This vessel is at 12,800 feet. So the fact of the matter is that there is no vehicle or vessel in the world that will allow these people to be removed from the submersible itself.

00:21:19 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 3:

Here's more from his interview with TMZ yesterday.

00:21:21 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 1:

the way to kind of summarize what you're saying it sounds like is that this would not only take

00:21:27 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 5:

a miracle it would take an unprecedented one yes i agree with that and i think really i'd say a series of miracles which would be that the finding it uh and then as the coast guard admiral and this is not being critical in any way i think it's a very realistic statement in the press conference yesterday, the Coast Guard Admiral in the 1st District said, effect some sort of rescue. And so if you find it, then respond to whatever the circumstances are you find and with whatever gear you have, and you hope that they all match up.

00:22:00 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 3:

Now, the company that operates this sub, Ocean Gate, they haven't explained yet why it took so long to alert the Coast Guard when the Titan lost communication with the mothership on Sunday, eight hours before they made that call. And experts believe the sub is sitting on the bottom of the ocean floor, which is out of reach for our rescue at this point. It's really sad. B.B. Rexha's alleged attacker was not trying to hurt her when he threw his cell phone at her face while she was performing on stage on Sunday. He says he was just trying to get her to use his phone to take a photo. That's according to his attorney. Nicholas Malavania's attorney said as a fan, his sole intention was to have Miss Rexha take photos with his phone and return it as a keepsake. It was never his intention to injure her. Again, she got a black eye, had to go to the hospital for some stitches. He said he deeply regrets his actions and hopes B.B. has a speedy recovery. Again, this dude was arrested and charged with assault.

00:22:59 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

If you watch the way that that thing was thrown, it wasn't tossed up there. It was thrown up there.

00:23:03 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 3:

It was aimed.

00:23:03 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 2:

And last night, she did a show for our sister station, Q102, in Philadelphia, and is talking to Buster about that, who's a Channel 955 alum. He is the afternoon host and the program director of that station. She was fantastic. So she did great. She looked great. She performed great. And everybody was very, very happy. So that's nice to see that she's all right.

00:23:26 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 3:

It's hard to admit that your ex was right, but sometimes you have to. Kim Kardashian has conceded that Kanye West may have been right after she had to remove a lip-syncing video their daughter, North West, posted to TikTok. In the since-deleted video, North was dressed up as Ice Spice. Remember, she had that red curly hair wig on, and she sang this song, Boy's Liar. Not the best lyrics. Fans were quick to point that out in the comments. That, you know, listen to what this song was saying, mama. Probably you don't want your daughter singing it. And Kim says, you know, she saw that people on the internet were saying Kanye was right. And yeah, maybe he was in this instance. So that TikTok exists no more. And there's a great video going around online of a UPS driver going to great lengths to help a woman hide a delivery from her fiance, who she lives with. The driver, Rick, talks to this homeowner. Her name is Hannah Pierce, who's at work, but she's speaking to him via her ring cam. and basically, she needed a hiding place for the package being delivered because it was a gift for her fiance.

00:24:35 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Rick, I'm at work. It's Hannah. Oh, Hannah. I got you covered, honey. All right, thank you so much. Hide it if you can because it's a present for Jason in the mailbox or in there. He comes to the door. Oh, I'm good.

00:24:49 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't have a delivery. I got the wrong house. Oh, okay. No, you're good. You got it, man. By the way.

00:24:53 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that great? He lied right to the guy's face.

00:24:55 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

This this is gonna do now. Well, this is a me

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 1:

I did not know that there are other people in this world that know their UPS drivers name by name

00:25:05 - 00:25:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm ready.

00:26:47 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's see what happens. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Tie always goes to the champion. Question number one. 00:28:02 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Question number five. President Biden's son has been charged with two misdemeanor tax offenses and a federal firearms charge and will plead guilty to those. What's his name?

00:28:15 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 2:

00:28:16 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 1:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area.

00:28:19 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, Takesha, you're going up against three out of five.

00:28:24 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, three out of five. Kelly, I thought you did better than that. Let's see what happens here. Takesha, question number one. A video is going viral of Beyonce pissed off at a stage crew member who made a mistake during her tour stop in Amsterdam. What's the name of her current tour?

00:28:45 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 3:

Three seconds. Oh, my gosh, I went off.

00:28:49 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 1:

00:29:03 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 2:

One to two.

00:29:03 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. Prince William turns 41 today. Name one of his three children with Kate Middleton.

00:29:11 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 2:

00:29:40 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm just trying to say that love is our drug?

00:29:44 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

No. No, that's her song, Scars to Your Beautiful. That was an Alessia Cara song. Still two to two. You've got to get this next question right to win with a tie. Okay. All right, so you've got to get this one right, Takesha.

00:30:00 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

Otherwise, Kelly, you're back tomorrow with us. President Biden's son has been charged with two misdemeanor tax offenses and a federal firearms charge and will plead guilty to those. What's his name? Beau Biden? No, that is his son's name. That is a son, but that's not the son who's pleading to these charges. It's Hunter Biden. We got a new champion this morning. And Kelly's coming back tomorrow.

00:30:31 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 1:

Final score is 2-3, Kelly. Congrats, Kelly.

00:30:34 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 2:

The streak stops at four wins for Takesha. Takesha, I just knew you had the Beyonce tour. I knew you were going to get it. She knew it started with an R. Yeah. I thought, honestly, that she was going to get the last one, too. Me, too. The Hunter Biden one. I thought that would be the one that you would also get. Kelly, you're back tomorrow. Get ready for a second win in a row from Brownstown. Takesha, we do have a partying gift for you. So there is good news. Your time was not wasted playing. We're going to set you up with some concert tickets, so hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll get you set up with those, okay?

00:31:37 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 4:

Sweet.

00:31:39 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 5:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:31:41 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 2:

Isabella.

00:31:43 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

00:31:44 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Are you ready? Oh, I'm ready. Five lies to tell your mom?

00:31:49 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:31:50 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 2:

Isabella, I don't know if you really want to piss people off before they're about to pay for your wedding. Are you sure you want to do that?

00:31:59 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 3:

I am sure. I've been dying to do this since middle school.

00:32:03 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. It's five lies to tell your mom. We're going to call up and have your mom believe that we're going to have a little bit of issues with the wedding reception.

00:32:15 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:32:16 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 2:

All right. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, there's an issue with the wedding.

00:32:23 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Lie number two, say we got put on a waiting list.

00:32:28 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 2:

Lie number three, we're behind another couple.

00:32:33 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 1:

Lie number four, they said I was irresponsible since I didn't get all of the paperwork signed.

00:32:39 - 00:32:39 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:32:39 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

And lie number five, they put us on a waiting list for two years or they said we have to pay $2,000 more now.

00:32:50 - 00:32:50 | Unknown:

Oh boy.

00:32:50 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 2:

How much money has your mom already paid for this wedding?

00:32:56 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, altogether, it's going to be around $27,000. Oh. Yeah.

00:33:02 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 2:

$27,000.

00:33:04 - 00:33:07 | Speaker 3:

I know. I should have just got eloped at this point.

00:33:07 - 00:33:10 | Speaker 2:

You may have to after this five lies. Are you ready?

00:33:10 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I'm ready.

00:33:12 - 00:33:13 | Speaker 2:

Here we go.

00:33:20 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 3:

hello mom yeah okay there's an issue with the wedding all right we got put on a waiting list like kind of waiting list well we're behind another couple right now Yes, I'm okay. I'm just kind of panicking because I don't know what to do. Okay, I got you. They said I was irresponsible because I didn't get all the paperwork signed that I was supposed to sign. For the venue? Yeah, you know, the last meeting we had, I was supposed to sign a paper when she sent over that email and I never signed it. and they said they have to put us on a waiting list and we can't get in for the next two years or we have to pay an extra $2,000 more. Oh, that's ball. I'm sorry. I don't know what to do. Figure it out. I totally forgot about the email. What was it you had to sign? After the email they sent me about the overview of the wedding, and I was supposed to sign it to confirm everything, and I never signed it, I just don't know what to do. That's an extra $2,000.

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 1:

We'll figure it out.

00:35:09 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 2:

Jeez. Isabella. Sorry. We'll figure it out, baby. We'll figure it out. I love you. We'll figure it out. I know, but I've already made you spend enough money. I love you. It's fine. We'll figure it out. We'll figure it out. Mom. Hi. How are you? What the f***? Do you remember all those days that you would drive Isabella to school and she would listen with you to Mojo in the morning? Now I'm going to f*** you. You went from the nicest mom in the world that was like calming your crying daughter down to now, you want to beat her ass, don't you?

00:36:02 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, Isabella. You are just so sweet. This is the nicest mom in the world. Oh, my God, like, we're going to figure it out. I love you.

00:36:13 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so sweet. So supportive. When she hangs up the phone, she's going to be like, those motherfuckers. I'm never going to hear the end of it. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. This is like going down memory lane, isn't it? When you and Isabella would listen to Five Lies to Tell Your Mom and you never thought that your daughter would do that to you. My God, I'm in Idaho now and I have to listen to our podcast and my time's all off. It's just, oh my gosh.

00:36:44 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh.

00:36:45 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. You moved that far away so that you were never a victim to Five Lies to Tell Your Mom and we got you. What do you have to say to your lovely daughter, Isabella, She's getting ready to get married. I'm going to fly back and kick your behind, girl. You guys can wedding crash. I don't care. Oh, I like... Wait, hold on a second. Don't even say that. You know we will. I would love it. It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mom. Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys here. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text 95500 if you get a call from a number that either says unidentified or maybe iHeartRadio. After you text us with a comment on our topics, pick up the phone and say hello because that's us calling to say, hey, we want you to talk to us on the radio. Shannon, what's happening? By the way, you guys posted the cutest video yesterday. You and your fiance, Wes. You guys were out. It was ice cream night, I think, right?

00:38:02 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we were at Custard. I have to give him a shout out. We were at a place I've never been to before. It's called the Custard Spot, I think, in Utica. The Custard Spot. That area confuses me. It's like, Shelby Township, is it Utica, is it Sterling Heights? I don't know.

00:38:15 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 2:

It's basically one, you know, crossover one area and you're in one of the others.

00:38:19 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was so fun.

00:38:20 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 2:

But you guys were, it was you, Wes, and then it was Smith and Lucy, your children, and then it was Wes's daughter, who's just the cutest.

00:38:30 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

She is.

00:38:31 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 2:

I was thinking, does Lucy like hanging out with her? Because it looked like they were having fun in the backseat.

00:38:36 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. I think that it's so cool to Lucy. So, Lucy's nine, and Samantha, Sam, as we call her, is about to be 14.

00:38:44 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:38:44 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 1:

So, she feels really cool.

00:38:46 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 2:

A little like older sister, you know, kind of hang out and have fun.

00:38:50 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, it took loose a second to get used to having somebody who is older than her around. That took us, you know, a couple of months to wade through with her. But now they're cool, which is great.

00:38:59 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 2:

But you guys were all driving around in, was it a Jeep that you were in or what were you in?

00:39:03 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Wes has this really, really old Wrangler that he takes out like every once in a while. And so on Tuesday nights, we started doing, actually Wes and Samantha started it. We do ice cream caravan And we think of a theme On Tuesday nights And then we hit up A different ice cream spot And we all have to dress Within the theme Oh really Okay and so When I have the kids Which I have the kids Week on week off So this is my week To have the kids And so we get to go And when we don't Samantha just brings Her girlfriends That is the coolest

00:39:35 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 2:

And you guys go out And get ice cream And how often Does this happen

00:39:38 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 1:

Every Tuesday night In the summer

00:39:40 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 2:

Every Tuesday night In the summer Can I come next week

00:39:43 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 1:

Yes Next week, the theme is, oh, God, what did she tell me? She told me last night what it is, and now I forget.

00:39:50 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 2:

So, themes meaning I have to dress up in some kind of an outfit?

00:39:53 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 1:

You have to dress up, like, last week, I think, was 80s.

00:39:57 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 2:

This is so fun.

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think.

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

If I.

00:40:00 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 4:

here's the deal if all i have to do is dress up in whatever the outfit is and west buys the ice cream i'm dressing up in the outfit yeah i'm i'm doing it if dad's buying ice cream i'll dress up in anything that dad's you know i want i want ice cream it's ice spice week next week mojo for ice cream absolutely you dress me up in anything you want to dress me up it was so fun That's cool. Yeah, that's awesome.

00:40:28 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? Last night, so we never really go out to dinner or anything before, but last night we did just because I had a crazy day with my kids and I was starving and I'm like, there's no way, like, the day is not going to happen. So we ended up going to, like, a little Mexican restaurant just down the street from this ice cream place. this is so this like blows my mind a little bit and parents especially parents that have um that are divorced and you are we're working with two households as I am okay tell me if you can relate to this my kids like certain things at my ex Andrew's house but all of a sudden they don't like them when they're spending time with me so last night we're at this Mexican restaurant for example and andrew had told me a couple of weeks ago hey guess what lucy will eat tacos now which is a big win because i love mexican food and i could never get her to come out to eat if we picked a mexican restaurant because she doesn't like anything on the menu it was okay tuesday taco tuesday so we go to this place and i'm like lulu you can order they have plain beef tacos you can just get them plain with lettuce that's apparently how she ate them with andrew and i'm like we're good to go and she was like no i don't eat tacos i'm like but you do eat taco dad told me that you've been eating i don't eat tacos i'm like you lie so bad and it's like that with so many things all of a sudden i found out they eat bagels from the babysitter at dad's house they don't like bagels at mom's house they eat chicken wings at dad's house or when they go out to dinner with dad they do not like chicken wings when they're with me or we go so this is not a they

00:42:04 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 4:

They like the cooking better at dad's house. Because they're eating basically, you know, stuff, right?

00:42:11 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 2:

It's when we're at home or when we're out. It doesn't matter. It doesn't make a difference. If they're with mom, they don't like tacos. This is a real thing. But when they're with dad, they'll eat all the tacos they'll give them.

00:42:21 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 4:

It's a real thing. Why is that? Because this happens with your son when he goes over his mouth?

00:42:25 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 3:

Not only does this happen, but it happens with tacos. It started with tacos. Then it escalated to hamburgers. Then it was like to his lunch. Where he's like, yeah, it's the turkey. Or something like, he's like, I don't like your honey mustard, but I eat it at mom's house. Like, it's a real thing. So the kids will- Drives me crazy.

00:42:45 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so what is the- So hold on. Maybe there's something here. Maybe there is that they give a little more attitude at one place than the other. Or what's the story? I don't understand what it is. Taco is a taco. First off, how can Lucy not like a taco?

00:43:01 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 2:

That's a great question. That's what I tell you. You are not my daughter.

00:43:03 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 4:

How do you not like? Lucy, I love you. You're the cutest kid in the world. You look so happy going to get ice cream. Eat the effing taco.

00:43:11 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 1:

I bet it's because Shannon offers better alternatives than her ex-husband does.

00:43:17 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 4:

You know what? That might be it right there. Because mom will say yes. Because this is the thing.

00:43:24 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 2:

Because I'm a pushover. Yes, you are correct.

00:43:26 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 4:

In my house growing up, if you didn't eat it, you didn't eat. You didn't eat. Yeah. And look at me. I ate it.

00:43:33 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Every time

00:43:35 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 4:

There wasn't a thing That is true

00:43:38 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Actually now that I think about this

00:43:40 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 4:

Megan hit it right on the head Yeah

00:43:44 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 1:

Did you just say I was

00:43:45 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 4:

You should be a psychologist

00:43:48 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry Really quick for clarification

00:43:51 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 4:

Yes you were right I hate it Hi Megan I love you You weren't wrong

00:43:59 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 3:

Megan make this iron shake

00:44:03 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 4:

That's, by the way, that does kind of, you know, the kids have opportunity. They can play little games and stuff, you know. I wish I had, I wish my parents divorced. You always say this. I always say that. No, you don't. Do you know how? No, you don't. Two Christmases. It's the best. Two foods. Yep. Two foods. Thanksgiving. We go to McDonald's all the time to the parking lot so we can change over, you know.

00:44:27 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 2:

But that is a thing. You're like, well, at dad's house, we could.

00:44:30 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:44:30 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what? Guess what? This is mom's house.

00:44:32 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 4:

Maybe the taco is the best thing at dad's house Maybe they're saying to themselves

00:44:36 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 2:

Well thanks for making me feel better That's how I got a TV in my room It's because you put the parents against each other

00:44:42 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 1:

It's great

00:44:43 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey Brandy what's up it's Mojo in the Morning

00:44:45 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey so I was thinking my son will eat Like chicken noodle soup at his grandma's house He'll eat Chicken nuggets at his grandma's house He will not eat any of that with me And then when it comes to like pizza He'll eat

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 5:

Only certain pizzas Like it's bread sauce and cheese I don't understand

00:45:05 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

By the way the grandma's house thing is a real deal Because my kids at Chelsea's mom's house Their grandma's house They would eat anything Anything that grandma does They will do And it was the same thing with them They would not do anything else I think it's because the kids know

00:45:24 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 5:

That the mom will just be like Here you want cookies for dinner Here go away

00:45:29 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

I think with the grandma's case, they like their grandmas more than they like their parents. I guess when grandma used to always say, Chelsea's mom used to always say, when mom and dad say no, grandma says yes. Holly, what's up?

00:45:44 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. So I think Megan's right. I think my daughter does the same thing at her dad's. Whatever she is given, that's it. There's no choice. So she has to eat it. But at mom's house, it's, you know, hey, we're going to have steak. and she'll say, bleh.

00:46:00 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 4:

And I think we have that with your dad. Yep.

00:46:02 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 3:

And, you know, and she'll say, yeah, but it was gross, Mom, and I didn't have a choice. So I think it's all about, like, whose line they have to walk tighter kind of thing. But I always give a choice. I would like a choice myself, so I extend that to my daughter. Quick question. Sorry, I just can't remember. How did you start this call?

00:46:25 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, stop it. You're not wrong. Stop it. You're not wrong.

00:46:29 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 1:

Sorry. It never happens. Let me live in this moment.

00:46:33 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 2:

She hung up the phone. No, she hung up. No, she's right there. Thanks, Holly.

00:46:39 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day, guys. You too.

00:46:41 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Amanda. What's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:46:44 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, long-time listener, first-time caller. Whoa. Well, I have to tell Shannon, same theme at my house. So I have the same really good, positive co-parenting relationship with my husband as well. And so we get really excited when she'll try new things at his house or try new things at my house and we'll text each other. And so recently it was like this grilled chicken, bacon, cheese sandwich that they made. And he's like, oh, my gosh, she ate the whole thing. She loved it. And I'm like, perfect. So then the past weekend I got, you know, the chicken, the bacon, the cheese, the pretzel buns, everything the same. And I was like, we're going to have those and waffle fries. And she was like, I don't like that. And I was like, Daddy said you, like, licked the plate, you know? It was so good. And she was like, yeah, no, I don't like it. I don't understand.

00:47:35 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:47:35 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, I even bought the pretzel bun.

00:47:38 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

You know why this is?

00:47:40 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 1:

You never pass up a pretzel bun.

00:47:42 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 2:

This is because.

00:47:43 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 1:

It sucks.

00:47:44 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the reason why. By the way, I will never forget that my kids were so excited. So my kids always wanted McDonald's. That was the thing. And we never did McDonald's a lot with Joe. Jacob and Luke, I mean, they pretty much ate McDonald's all the time. And McDonald's, when we were kids, remember, it was like the treat of treats.

00:48:07 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my. And only when we stayed at Grandma's house would she take us to the magic McDonald's in Allen Park.

00:48:13 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 2:

That's it. Exactly. Right? That McDonald's right there. Going to McDonald's was like a birthday celebration or end of school year and stuff. And I remember when the boys came home for the first time from Grandma's house and they ate Wappas. That was what Jacob called them. We had Wappas at Grandma's house. And I thought to myself, disgusting. You had a Wappas? No, I was like, wow, I love Wappas and I love Burger King. My kids, if I pulled into a Burger King parking lot, they would cry. McDonald's is right there because, you know, they're always right next to each other, right? But you pulled in with grandma and grandma because grandma loved the onion rings at Burger King and the Wappas. That's such a good test. I wonder what all kids would do if you took them to Burger King instead of McDonald's. Right. I mean, it's like, what's going on?

00:49:04 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

But grandparents sprinkle magic dust on everything.

00:49:06 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they get the magic touch of everything And they get away with it

00:49:11 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 4:

Wopper, wopper, wopper, wopper Juju, double, triple, wopper Flames, real taste with perfect

00:49:17 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

It won't ever be a wopper now FBK

00:49:22 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Jacob says that we never sent him to a speech therapist Because we thought it was so cute When he would speak like that We thought it was the cutest thing ever I didn't want him to grow out of the wopper Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30 All right. We got the dirty on the 30 right now. And Shannon with the dirty. What do you got?

00:49:42 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, a lawyer for rapper Kodak Black is slamming the prison free plea deal reached by the Justice Department and the president's son, Hunter Biden. Big story yesterday. Why is he slamming this? Well, Kodak Black was charged with the.

00:50:00 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 3:

Exact same federal weapons crime as Hunter, yet he was sentenced to more than three years in prison. Again, Hunter got a 0.0. Codex criminal defense attorney said there's no such thing as not getting jail time on a gun charge, especially in this situation. The Justice Department announcing yesterday that Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay income taxes. He also agreed to enter into a pretrial agreement, excuse me, with regard to a separate charge of this possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful drug user. Oh, you want me to play a Biden short clip? Nope, not that one.

00:50:43 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 1:

They've made him a very good deal and he sucked it up like a Hoover Deluxe. I can't blame you.

00:50:50 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 2:

Hunter has since paid the overdue tax bill, more than $100,000.

00:50:55 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 5:

A lot of times with tax evasion charges, if the defendant or taxpayer pays the money, which apparently he did in 2021, was late, then there's not much of an appetite to go after them criminally.

00:51:08 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 2:

Hunter is also expected to reach a deal on a felony gun charge. He's accused of lying about his drug use on an application when he bought a firearm in 2018. Experts say it's rare for the Justice Department to bring a weapons charge against a nonviolent offender. The White House saying in a statement that the president and first lady love their son and support him.

00:51:29 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 3:

Hunter also appears to have gotten out of the weeds on some other possible charges, including money laundering, bribery and human trafficking as part of that plea agreement. And also an update about something else Hunter Biden related. He and his baby mama have privately settled their child support dispute in Arkansas. If you remember this story, London Roberts is the mother of Hunter's now four-year-old daughter, Navy, agreed to her $20,000 monthly child support payments being slashed to a reduced monthly payment of $5,000. Now, Hunter initially denied paternity of baby Navy, but a DNA test proved he was the child's father.

00:52:10 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

I thought it was interesting. There's a couple of things in this one. One of the parts of this deal that was done with the baby mama, you know, whoever this woman is, was that she cannot call the kid Biden.

00:52:24 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

So she was Navy Joan Biden and she can't be Biden.

00:52:27 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 4:

Which I find to be, if the baby is his child, that's really sad for that child. And also the other thing, too, is that baby has never been acknowledged by the president nor Dr. Jill Biden, the first lady. To me, why take it out on the kid that your son was sleeping with hookers and stuff like that Or who this woman was I think she was a dancer or something they said at the time It's like, I don't know, I just think that that's wrong

00:52:53 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 3:

Kevin Costner allegedly got into a huge fight with a renter at one of his beach properties The reason? He believed his now estranged wife Christine was spending too much time with this guy who just so happens to be a very well-off tech mogul. This alleged fight occurred when tech entrepreneur Daniel Starr decided he was going to rent this beachside guest house from the Kevin Costner. Rented it for $60,000 per month. This was last year, okay? Source close to the situation tells me after he moved in, Daniel became really close friends with Christine and Kevin. Realized they had a lot in common. They enjoyed each other's company. They'd hang out together with their kids. But Kevin was always away filming, especially when he was doing Yellowstone. So Christine was kind of lonely. So she'd hang out with him solo, almost on a daily basis, from what I'm hearing. Kevin got wind of these hangouts. Things escalated from there. And then fast forward, Christine files for divorce a few weeks ago after nine years of marriage. This Daniel guy was only six months into his year-long lease at the time. And despite getting lawyers involved, ended up leaving the property in March. Kesha says she almost died after spending nine days in a Miami hospital with some serious complications after freezing her eggs earlier this year. This was back in January, I think. And although it's taken a couple of months, she said now she is finally feeling better. She didn't really give details on what she called an absolutely horrifying experience. But she just said she developed a very uncommon yet serious complication from the procedure, from freezing her eggs, due in part to a weakened immune system. And she said it was just the most, as she truly almost died while she was in the hospital from that. Friend of mine, same thing happened to her.

00:54:42 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 4:

Really?

00:54:43 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

00:54:43 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 4:

Wow, I didn't know the risks of that.

00:54:45 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yep.

00:54:45 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 4:

I guess any time you're doing any kind of surgical procedure, there's risks.

00:54:49 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, we all love the prices, right? Well, I want you to meet a contestant named Henry, who celebrated his win during a game of Bonkers.

00:55:00 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 5:

greatly. He won a trip to Hawaii. He was jumping up and down with his arms in the air, dislocated his shoulder on the show.

00:55:12 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 1:

Higher, lower, lower, higher.

00:55:14 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes!

00:55:15 - 00:55:16 | Unknown:

Whoa!

00:55:17 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 5:

He's screaming in excitement and pain. Oh, no. Isn't that crazy? So, they had to stop. Drew Carey had to then explain to the audience what happened to this poor guy.

00:55:30 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 1:

Let me explain what happened. This is Alice, Henry's wife. How you doing? Henry was celebrating and he dislocated his shoulder. Wow. I know. So he's not going to be able to spin the wheel, but Alice is going to spin the wheel for him. Good luck. Here we go.

00:55:46 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that crazy?

00:55:47 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's amazing.

00:55:50 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 5:

You don't have medics in the back to just pop that bad boy into place. Bob Barker was on his deathbed for 20 years. You know somebody back there was in the medical field.

00:55:59 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't it be funny if it was like a sports team where all of a sudden you see the guy running out on the field like the trainer?

00:56:05 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 3:

I'll be back in.

00:56:06 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

00:56:18 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:56:24 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, what's going on? Please be nice to us, guys. You got all the praise you wanted this morning. I know you're feeling like the ego is bigger right now, isn't it?

00:56:41 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 5:

What? No. Why are you talking to me?

00:56:43 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking to you because you feel so vindicated or validated because maybe it's a better word that you were right on the last topic. So let's bring up a topic with you.

00:56:58 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm right about a lot of things. Okay, I know. I can't even say that with a straight face. I'm sorry.

00:57:03 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 2:

Megan wants to know why guys are so stubborn.

00:57:08 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 5:

Not even, well, yeah, it is, I guess it's stubborn. I wanted to, see, that was nicer than what I was going to say. I was going to say dumb, you say stubborn. That's a much better word. And now I have to go with it. How dare you? But, you know, stubborn really is the proper word here because my brother has a coworker who was having, like, a baby shower luncheon at work. And he was getting ready for it. It was essentially like a potluck, bring a gift, bring a food item, kind of work in tandem to bring this mini baby shower together. And we were out running errands, and he kept saying, I need to get a gift. I need to get a gift. I was like, okay, let's do this. This is going to be so easy. And while we were out running errands, we were next to, like, a baby store. I don't even know what it's called anymore because obviously. I go in there all the time. Baby's R Us. Bye-bye Baby? Yeah, it was like a bye-bye Baby. I just didn't know if that was still what it was called. Bye-bye Baby is kind of near work. I think they're going out of business, but yeah. Baby, baby, baby. Maybe it was a Baby's R Us. I don't know. It was a baby store. It's by Burlington Coal Factory. It's over there. I don't know. Yeah. So we're trying to go over there, and my brother just keeps not turning in the right direction, and it's driving me nuts. I'm like, it's over there. It's over there. And he's not really saying, I'm not going there. He's just like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Not answering, not anything. So eventually I go, what is your problem? Like, go to the baby store. And he goes, you know what? We are going to be grocery shopping anyways. I'm pretty sure I can just find something at the grocery store. Sir, what is the problem with going to the baby store? And he says, and I quote, well, I've just never been to one of those before. So I don't know what I'm going to find there

00:58:53 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 4:

Here's a little hint Probably everything you need for a baby shower Because it's a baby store

00:58:59 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 2:

He's had no reason though to go to a baby store Right? Because he's never had a kid There's been no kids

00:59:04 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 5:

Okay But if you are going to shop for a birthday present For a child Are you going to go to the grocery store Or are you going to go to a toy store?

00:59:14 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 2:

How old is the kid?

00:59:16 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 5:

Eight

00:59:16 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 2:

He's eight years old I wouldn't go to a baby store for an eight year old

00:59:20 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 5:

No No, no, no, no. The baby isn't even here yet.

00:59:25 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was going to say, all of a sudden she's talking about the kid being eight. I'm like, that's the fastest growing kid I've ever seen. I would go to Target. I'd go to Walmart. I'd go to the big stores. I would go to those ones.

00:59:37 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 5:

Correct answer. You would not go to the grocery store. So he had to get other things, right? Yeah, but in his mind, he said, well, they've got baby wipes there. Exactly.

00:59:47 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Now listen, in the grocery store, they have an entire baby aisle. There's food, there's not clothing, there's toys, there's diapers. It's a pet. But not the...

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 6:

There's formula that's gold these days.

01:00:02 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 3:

But that's not stuff that you give for a baby shower. Megan. But here's the thing, though. You don't bring diapers to a baby shower?

01:00:07 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 6:

What store were you guys going to?

01:00:08 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 3:

You could.

01:00:09 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 6:

What was the grocery store that you were going to in Toledo?

01:00:14 - 01:00:15 | Unknown:

Kroger.

01:00:15 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 6:

So it was Kroger. There you go. Do you remember? So remember, there used to be, like, you know, if it's Meijer or Kroger and they've got the big stores, okay, where you can do it, you can get anything you want there. Correct. That's not the one we went to. It's a one-stop shop.

01:00:27 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, some of the Kroger's don't have all the fun things.

01:00:30 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 6:

You could buy them a loaf of bread and some deli meats.

01:00:33 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. I wonder if, because if it was a Bye Bye Baby type of store, that place, even when you have kids, is real, or always has been real intimidating. I wonder if he was just like, I don't even want to step foot in there because I don't even know where to start.

01:00:47 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 4:

I get that, but I was with him. It's not like he was alone. He had a companion who has many pregnant friends who knows what to get for a baby shower.

01:00:56 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm totally with you. I'm just, I'm trying to figure out where his head was. No, don't justify his behavior. Steve, explain this. Okay, sorry, ma'am. Sorry.

01:01:03 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 6:

Explain this to Megan of why guys are more sensible than women. Go ahead.

01:01:09 - 01:01:16 | Speaker 2:

It's really simple. It's not that we're stubborn. It's just we're so stuck in our ways that we don't make.

01:01:17 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm too stubborn to admit that that's stubborn.

01:01:21 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 2:

We're just stuck in our ways. I'm telling you. It's not that we don't want to go with your plan. It's not that we don't want to show appreciation. It's not that you might be right, but it's just we're so stuck in our ways. We don't care.

01:01:34 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay, question then. How would you define the word stubborn without using stuck?

01:01:41 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to leave this one to Mojo. Good move. Don't put me in this whole thing.

01:01:46 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 6:

By the way, you know what it is, though? What's the quickest way from point A to point B? A straight line going there. And if you've got to go get other stuff, why do two stops? This day and age, parking in parking lots is a pain in the ass. Crossing over intersections is a pain in the ass. Steve, if you can go into Kroger and you can get everything you want all in one and pick up maybe a box of wine, why not? My favorite is, Megan, the first baby shower that I ever went to in my entire life was well before I had kids. And it was the same situation. It was a co-worker situation. It was at work. And my favorite was that I bought booze, and it was for the kid and the parent. It was the booze so that the parent could drink the booze and feel incredible. I like that. Yeah. Terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

01:02:38 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 3:

I never buy a baby gift for the most part. I always buy gifts for the big sister, big brothers. Yeah. I always buy gift cards. Gift cards.

01:02:46 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 5:

Yes. You guys figure it out. Here's the $100 at Target.

01:02:48 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 6:

Some people think those are a very impersonal gift when you get a gift card.

01:02:52 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 5:

Look, but I don't have time to try to figure out what you like and what you don't like. Here's the money. Go get it. What you need.

01:02:58 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 4:

With gift cards, you have to spend more money because you can buy something more sentimental or targeted towards your person and spend less money. But if you're doing a gift card, you have to put more money down so it doesn't look like a cheap gift.

01:03:09 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but especially to Mojo's point, before I had a child and I'm younger, I don't know what to get for babies. And I apologize, I'm not reading your wish list Here's $100, go get whatever you want I'm sorry

01:03:22 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 4:

But they make a list for you They literally do everything for you All you have to do is show up and say This is the mom's name They print you out a list, you go that one And then you're done

01:03:32 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 5:

It also depends on how much I like the parents To be honest If it's like my best friends, then yeah, I might actually read the list If it's not, then here goes some money

01:03:40 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 6:

You know what guys are when they're buying gifts? Guys are your grandparents or uncles when they come to something and they would always just put money in a card, right? Just kind of hand it there. The other thing, too, is are we getting crazy these days that we actually have to have, like, baby showers during our lunch breaks at work?

01:03:56 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 4:

I think it was just something nice that the coworkers organized. I know that this might seem crazy to you, but some people, they like their coworkers. Imagine this crazy concept.

01:04:11 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 5:

He's so silent, right?

01:04:12 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 6:

I'm done. I'm done. Mojo in the morning, have you ever been called out on social media for something that could have been done privately? That happened to Mike. And if you have, by the way, you'll have to call us up at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And it all is about your reunion that's coming up?

01:04:30 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got a high school reunion coming up in July. I think the end of July. And I'm like half in, half out. I want to go because I haven't seen 97% of the people I went to high school. Shout out to Belding High School In years I just haven't gone back to my hometown If I run into them in a mall Sweet but I just haven't gone back So I want to go kind of to see everybody But I'm not like over the top Like wearing Belding gear And I'm getting excited And you know

01:05:00 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 3:

what i mean so there's these two girls who are organizing it and they were always the girls in high school too that did that kind of stuff that would organize it and get things together they were in the yearbook yes yeah yeah they ran the yearbook pages and they were like captains of all these different uh clubs and that's awesome that's great for them um but they so they made this facebook group and they tagged a bunch of people in it to start it off so i had to click like if you were gonna rsvp so i clicked like i'm gonna go and then you have to pay like 20 bucks if you're going to be bring some or if it's just you and then 20 bucks for another person so we got the rsvp by i think the end of this week and i've already clicked like like i'm going and you can pay all the way up to the event but if you pay early you get five bucks off and they are adamant that people pay early so much to the point that they started tagging me in facebook posts like publicly going hey where's our money we need our money give us our money oh that's annoying oh very it's incredibly annoying and i have it's on my like personal facebook that i really only use for my aunts to see pictures of the kids that's the only reason i have that facebook and so if i didn't have like a a setting on it where you have i have to approve the tags on it then i would have eight million of these building high school uh did you pay your money yet did you pay your money yet have you paid your money yet so i wonder like do people get called out like this all the time on facebook or instagram or twitter whatever you're on that's more of a they should have dm'd

01:06:26 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 2:

you that right you know if they didn't have your number or if they have your number then they should just text you and say hey by the way but for them to actually make a post about it i always think that that's funny too like these are the people that's what they're saying that haven't paid yet exactly this is high school all over again like i know i haven't paid it yet i'm gonna

01:06:45 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 3:

pay it like my lunch money will come i promise it's public shame it's like when we have those

01:06:50 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 5:

tests to take for iHeartMedia that are all about like the FCC compliance or whatever and Tony will send an email to everybody going KP and Shannon and Mojo you still have yet to complete your test

01:07:04 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 4:

and I'm like couldn't you have just sent it to the three of us or is this public humiliation at it's finest it lights a fire under your butt it does he also sends it out like two weeks before it's actually due to right plenty of time

01:07:19 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Marie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:07:21 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning. I love listening to you guys, by the way. Thank you. I'm a longtime listener, and I really enjoy you guys, so thank you so much. My sister called me out on Facebook and actually used the word shame on me because I had open-heart surgery, and 14 days later, I couldn't make it to my daughter's open house because, well, I had open-heart surgery, so I wasn't able to get out.

01:07:47 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 2:

It was like 90 days of recovery doing that, right?

01:07:50 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So I was, she actually used the word shame on you for being a bad mother.

01:07:56 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Did she not know you had open heart surgery?

01:07:59 - 01:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she knew. She knew.

01:08:00 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 2:

But that was her way of making you look bad. She looked horrible for doing that, I'm sure. Yeah.

01:08:06 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 1:

Unfortunately, that ended our relationship. Oh, that's too bad.

01:08:10 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 3:

Did anybody like or comment on that post? Like, did anybody like it?

01:08:14 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 1:

My daughter actually said How dare you shame my mother Shame on you for talking to her Like that When I understand And it's my open house So it was just sad

01:08:29 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Did people like the post of them Saying you hadn't paid No Mike

01:08:35 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 3:

So everybody else that was tagged in it Was like oh I'll get to it I'll hop right on it Like you're giving her what she wants Like, I want somebody to go, hey, stop shaming us. Or if you could dislike comments, I wish I would do that.

01:08:48 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what you should do is you shouldn't pay and then go to the event and watch them make a PA announcement or something like that. Oh, no.

01:08:55 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 3:

There's a specific rule. You cannot pay at the door. You cannot pay at the door for this.

01:09:00 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 2:

You were excited about this reunion. This isn't changing your tune on wanting to go to your high school reunion, is it?

01:09:07 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 3:

It's one of those things where it's like, yeah, I'm going to go back because I haven't seen people in a while. And it'd be nice to say hi But I'm not like Counting down the days Until I go back to high school

01:09:17 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 5:

I had a good time at mine Did you?

01:09:19 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 3:

What'd you guys do? Like what goes on with these things?

01:09:22 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea Drink and look at pictures

01:09:24 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah you couldn't pay me To go to a reunion Same with me I'm like that too I hide in Kroger In my hometown And I see people I'm at high school

01:09:33 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 2:

I actually like What my class Is starting to do now My class now Is just specifically saying Hey If you're in town for Thanksgiving or if you're in town for Christmas, whatever it is, we're all going out to eat at. And it was the little place that was right by our school. That's nice. And that's it. Instead of doing a reunion where it's like the formal thing where everybody's getting together and then, you know, talking about each other. And that's kind of more fun to do. because then everybody gets together and then there's having drinks and having fun and stuff. But I remember the one year that I didn't get a chance to go to my reunion. It was like the big one. And then the following year, I was so bummed out because my only thing is I'll only go to the reunion on the years that I'm skinny. So right after I did Ideal You and I lost a whole bunch of weight with Ideal You, I was like, why can't we have a reunion? i'm gonna i'm gonna actually have my own reunion by the way guys i know that we're only in you know the 17th year of us being uh graduated but in three years i'll be fat i want to go back like

01:10:40 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 1:

because i know in high school i was like a class clown and i don't think a lot of people thought i was going to do anything with my life at all which that's that's absolutely fair but i would like to go back now and even though got to yeah i'm not like top notch top level yet i want to go back and pretend. I got an idea. What you should

01:10:57 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 2:

do is, you definitely go, but you for the money that you have to pay for this thing, start a GoFundMe page and then tag them. Mojo on the morning show. So yesterday, I witnessed something that was a little unsettling, but I would like to call myself a hero. This should be good. Cue Enrique. I'm a hero. Yes. Or Enrique. I'm a hero. No, come on. Enrique is the only

01:11:24 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 4:

hero song. You sing your own song. No, Hercules has a great hero song. Is he wrote a hero? Is he wrote it? No time flies.

01:11:31 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, we were eating lunch, and while we were eating lunch, there was a table that was next to us of some I won't say exactly, you know, who they were, but they were 20-somethings. Oh. You know? Gross.

01:11:50 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 1:

And they were saying that like that.

01:11:52 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 2:

And they were, you could hear their conversation fully. They were complaining about the waitress. Now, the restaurant that I was at only had two waitresses working the entire time. And they were covering probably 10 plus tables. I mean, it was crazy, you know, that these guys were able to do what they were doing. And they got their food and they were complaining about they didn't get something and they had to have the waitress, who was our waitress because she was doing our section, and go and get something for her, you know, for them. And they were just kind of like getting in kind of a bitchy mood. And I overheard them say, you know what? Let's just get up and leave and not pay. And they had just eaten all their food. Well, at that particular moment, the second waitress that was there came over to bring something to our table because we didn't have any ketchup, so we needed it. And I said, hey, I just want you to know this. I heard them say something about getting up and not paying, so I just wanted to give you a heads up. She goes, oh, my God, thank you so much. So then she left, and just then they got up probably, you know, less than two or three minutes later and started walking out without having paid their bill, only to get stopped by the manager of the restaurant who was up at the podium area right by the front door to stop them saying, hey, you didn't pay your bill.

01:13:11 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:13:12 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 2:

I would like to get a letter of accommodation.

01:13:16 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 3:

There you go. There you go. There you go. There you go.

01:13:17 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 2:

But I also kind of felt like, honestly, I felt like a tattletale narc. You know what I mean? Like, I felt kind of like that. No way.

01:13:24 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 4:

That was justified.

01:13:25 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

But then I felt like this waitress was so, the waitress was like, oh, my God, I just want to thank you so much. My manager would like to thank you, and he would like to buy you, you know, your guys' lunch. I'm like, no, I'm going to pay full price. No, I got the free lunch.

01:13:41 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, wait a second. I wouldn't be that nice.

01:13:45 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 2:

That was, like, so exciting, by the way. Yesterday, by the way, I just want you to know, I was thinking I should have been the lead story on the 5 o'clock news. They should have said, Hank, Hank, you better call him for an interview. Let's go out live to Hank Winchester right now. We are live at a West Bloomfield restaurant where a crime was about to be committed.

01:14:05 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 1:

Hero mojo.

01:14:06 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Help me, Hank. No, but it was wild because, and I don't know if you've ever, have you guys ever witnessed or been part of a Dine and Dash? Because when you see it happening, it's like almost in slow-mo because you see the people like i heard them talking about it and then i see them getting up and the people that are getting up and they're getting up and this is

01:14:24 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 4:

what they do when they get up yeah they look guilty it's like so guilty the whole time also

01:14:32 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 2:

like every place has cameras now true yeah and honestly it's a fame it's a famous popular place well and i know where you were yeah so it's like you're never going to be able to go back there

01:14:42 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 4:

again i i would hope that they would submit it to like a hank and be like you know six people or however many it was oh because that does stink for the server who a lot of times they have to

01:14:52 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

it comes out of their their paycheck and shannon she's the nicest lady ever she's been there forever she works

01:15:00 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 4:

her ass off and it's not her fault that there were you know two waitresses on duty I guess a couple people called in sick or something like that but um and here's the other thing too this restaurant was really cool like they they did the whole thing at the beginning where they sat you down and they said hey listen we're we're gonna be really tough today because we only have two people working but we don't want you to have to sit there and wait in the waiting area so we'll let you you know we'll get your drinks out fast and you might have to wait a little bit so they

01:15:26 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 2:

kind of explained it ahead of time but I'm a hero hero I mean I watched a few Marvel movies this week and I never heard any of them go I'm a hero they you know what they missed out on the whole

01:15:44 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 4:

I love my Mariah Carey. Yes. It's Mojo over there. Mojo comes along. Yeah. Hey, they may be leaving. You told her to be silent, right? Yeah. And you know they can't survive. I would like a key to the city of West Bloomfield if the city is listening right now. You won't actually go up to the bad guy and say, hey, stop it. We'll tell the 18-year-old server. No, no, no. I told the server to tell the manager. Listen, I've got family, and honestly, I've got a very important job. I cannot die for this job. We've got to keep things rolling here, right? Yes, I've got to make sure. What's going on, Melissa?

01:16:41 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 1:

how you doing it's mojo in the morning hi i just want to give a shout out to my husband joe because he knows i'm gonna call for this and he says i always call the radio station oh really what's up joe yes and he uh so this actually happened to us when we were first dating we were at an olive garden and we were sitting at like the bar area and these two ladies were out to dinner and they just had their dinner and they just ordered like a cappuccino or something like a coffee afterwards and then the waitress went to go get it and they went out for a smoke break and me and my husband were just like sitting there we're like i'm pretty positive they just left them they're not coming back and i felt so bad we're like oh my god i don't even know how people could

01:17:21 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 2:

do that yeah i have a question yeah is there an age where it finally becomes acceptable for you to commit petty crimes because i think that if you hit a certain point you're allowed to do stuff just because you've earned the right after being on the planet for so long. Like, if you're 85 years old, you get to Dine and Dash. That's absolutely your right. Really? If you get away in time, if you get away, if your sneaky little butt gets back to the car in time, you earned it.

01:17:48 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 3:

See, I think when you're 80, you could tell a dirty joke and get away with it, and you may be farting public and nobody, like, make a face at you.

01:17:55 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 2:

I can't Dine and Dash.

01:17:58 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Listen, Megan, I think this. I think that you already get a deep enough discount with that senior citizen discount.

01:18:05 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 3:

That's true.

01:18:06 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 4:

Pay the effing bill.

01:18:07 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 3:

You take that wrinkly hand, you dig in that purse or that pocket, and you pay your bills. Through all the stale candy and Kleenex, you got money in there, granny.

01:18:15 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 4:

I have to tell you that, to me, witnessing a crime, like when you see something like that firsthand, like seeing people on the news where they're walking in and out of stores and just taking things, Like to me I'm like going Oh my god that's crazy that's so brazen I can't believe they're doing it It's wild to see that happening because To me I feel Bad if I have an extra thing in my Cart and I didn't put it on The self scanner you know what I mean like I feel Like God's gonna strike me Dead or something that week I do remember

01:18:46 - 01:19:08 | Speaker 3:

Seeing I've talked about this this was years ago A lady fake a slip and fall At a J.Crew store when I was Visiting my sister in Chicago I'll never Forget it it was so obvious that she, like, set up the area, right, and then, like, faked this slip and fall. Everybody knew it was fake. It was not a surprise. What did you do?

01:19:08 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 4:

Did you do anything about it? Did you say anything about it at all?

01:19:11 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even need to because there were employees that saw the same thing and went over. So it didn't work? It didn't work. I didn't make it.

01:19:23 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

01:19:23 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 3:

She literally set up the scene of the crime Before she walked away Walked back and then pretended to slip on this thing

01:19:31 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 2:

Have you seen the video of the girl who did that at work And she was in her break room And the video caught it She went to go get coffee And then nobody stopped to help her So she just got up and grabbed her coffee at love She's my idol, I love her

01:19:42 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

That's what would happen by the way You know what would happen honestly If I was to try to commit a crime If I was the person dining and dashing I'd be walking out As I'd be walking out The person would go, hey, Mojo, I listened to the show, or hey, what's going on? I'm your neighbor, or whatever the deal is.

01:20:00 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 3:

You know, you get stopped by somebody. And, you know, so, by the way, we just did this conversation here for the last 10 minutes and not one call from the West Bloomfield City Council wanting to actually have me at their meetings to get an award. Okay, I'm a little disappointed. Mojo in the Morning Show, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. text is 95500 I hate to go from all the happiness that we do on our show to now something that kind of brought you down a little earlier this morning but you were talking earlier this morning with all of us off the air about what is the worst days of the month for you Kevin

01:20:43 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 4:

oh man the days when Josiah goes back with his mom and he leaves me you know Shannon was talking about it earlier about you know having one week on one week off with parenting that's what we do now And I'm so blessed that his mom and I are at a place now where we can make that decision ourselves and not have the courts make a ruling. Because back in the day when Josiah was younger, that's what we did. And I didn't have a full week with him. It was like three or four days or something like that. But now I'm almost like I reach like a depressive state. Like I realize my energy level. I realize how communicative I am, even with Sherelle. It just it just sucks when he leaves, especially after like a Father's Day weekend. And I'm very present with Josiah So I'm always playing games with him And we're hugging and we're talking So when he leaves You can really feel like this separation

01:21:33 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 3:

You were texting me on Friday You were with Josiah And he's playing video games And you're playing video games And I could see the two of you guys doing You know, having your fun and stuff like that It's almost kind of like When you have like a friend visit you You know, like this And you're spending time together And all of a sudden you gotta like let them go I can only imagine, Shannon and Kev, how tough that must be.

01:21:58 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 4:

Is that something that, do you feel like you go depressive or you get in a depressive state when you leave?

01:22:03 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 1:

Honest to God, it guts me on Sundays. So we do Sunday to Sunday. And I have the hardest time Sunday afternoons when I let them go. And, like, my house is super quiet. Yeah, that's the biggest thing, too. It's so weird. It's, you know, Wes, my fiancé, is the same. He has a little bit of a different schedule, but he calls it, like, the accordion home. Because sometimes your house is so full and it's loud and there's so much going on. And then on Sunday, all of a sudden, it's like nothing. It's quiet. And it's, oh, I hate it.

01:22:35 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 2:

Can I, and you guys might already do this. And if you don't, maybe this is an idea. But as a guy or as a kid of divorce, I would have loved it if my parents had called me during those off weeks and just said, hey, how are you doing? Just checking in. I miss you. I want to see you. Because I always thought hearing this, this is incredible, because I always thought when my dad left, you know what I mean? I always thought he was excited. Right. Party time. Right. Yeah.

01:22:59 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It's nothing like to your point. I try my best. I used to feel like, you know, when Josiah was growing up, his mom and I didn't have the best relationship. So there were times and I still believe this to be true, that she would like see me calling and not answer. Times have changed and she does a great job of allowing me to talk to Josiah now. but there are still times where i reach out and there's no response or he has an ipad and i text or i reach out and there's no response sure so you just gotta wait until you know your day comes

01:23:28 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 3:

and it sucks it sucks so the day that you guys do the transfers over um have similar feels to it where as soon as they do you guys do you initiate the transfer or does the person who's getting them initiate the train the transfer what do you mean like if you're if say it's your week to get or you know josiah do you go to pick him up at his mom's house yeah and then when she does she come and pick him up at your house is that how you do it or how do you guys do it i would have it would be heartbreaking for me to always be the person to have to drop or pick off yeah because you're alone in your car but maybe almost that's therapeutic for you yeah i mean it's changed

01:24:06 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 4:

we used to have to pick up at the court station again well at the police station like that was court order yeah we had to pick up at the police station and then you know as we're maturing we talked about you know weeks ago about uh us sitting next to each other now so we haven't done a police station in maybe like a year or so like that but she'll so this past time she came

01:24:22 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 3:

to my house and got him great so and then i'll drop him did josiah was he old enough to understand that that was a police station that you guys were doing it in the parking lot of or i'm sure there

01:24:31 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 4:

are police cars everywhere yeah yeah it was never really discussed or anything like that but i'm

01:24:35 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 3:

sure he did know um how do you do it channon does uh uh their dad come and get them or do you or do

01:24:43 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

you drop them off like how does it go it depends it really like whoever's convenient for yeah and what's going on and we don't really have a set time either because like sometimes andrew will have plans throughout the day and he won't be able to take them till after dinner or vice versa yeah so we we just know it like sunday's the day literally i hate sun

01:25:00 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 5:

Sundays. I hate Sundays. It's Fridays for us. Yeah. Wow. Can I, can I tell you that, you know,

01:25:06 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 2:

I was fortunate enough to my, that, you know, my parents never, uh, get divorced, but my best buddy's parents were divorced. And as a friend of somebody who was going through that, his dad and mom didn't live by each other. Mom lived by us. Dad lived like four towns over. So it was like 45 minutes away it was so depressing as a friend so it's nice that you know and i'm sure in your guys's cases they probably do they have friends and stuff in the areas and stuff so they can still play with because as the friend of seeing my friends go away i felt depressed like i hated that and then when you would find out that the parents would did he just send you a text

01:25:46 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

well i texted him last night at 10 34 i said i love you yosh that's what my name is he just He said, I love you, too. Can we talk to him on the radio? He must be watching. Let me see.

01:25:56 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 2:

Can we?

01:25:57 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's like a FaceTime type of audio.

01:25:59 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 2:

If you want to FaceTime him, I'll put it through the board here. Does he watch?

01:26:02 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 5:

Or does he listen to the show? I mean, let's see.

01:26:04 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 2:

So, because you guys got to hear Josiah. He is so smart. He sounds like, honestly, he sounds like a little man, you know, when he's talking. But, yeah, it's got to be very, very tough. And honestly, if it wasn't tough, I would worry about you guys. I hate to say that, but, and I, cause I know that you love, you know, the fact that they are in a good place when they go, go to their parents' house, but it's still, it's like,

01:26:31 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 5:

and that's something that I had to work on a ton because I am super bad about hiding my emotions and I'm a very emotional person. So I've had to be really mindful, especially recently now that Lucy is, she's nine and she's like very intuitive. I've had to say, like, she knows I'm sad. Yeah. But I've had to tell her, I love that you have the best time at Dad's house. That makes me so happy that you love Mom's house and you love Dad's house. We're inside. I'm like, please don't go.

01:26:57 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:26:58 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 5:

You know?

01:26:58 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, as I was going to say, you know, you don't want them to see that you're sad. Right. But it's nice that they know that you do miss them. Yeah. What's up, Misfit Ron?

01:27:07 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 4:

Hey, it's Ron. And I just wanted to call in because what Kev was talking about, I know that exact feeling, like when your kid goes back to their parents and you don't have any, well, maybe you do have other kids, but maybe you don't. But it's like your house is empty.

01:27:25 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

So how do you know that exact feeling, Ron?

01:27:28 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 4:

Because I have that same situation. With Pookie, actually, my daughter, I give her nickname Pookie.

01:27:36 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:27:37 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 4:

But anyways, when my daughter goes to her mom's, I know what it's like.

01:27:42 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 2:

So when Pookie leaves you and goes back to her mom's house, do you just sit in silence? Are you sad at home? What's your thing? Bored as hell. Bored as hell. Really? Bored. How often do you get your daughter?

01:27:57 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 4:

On the weekends and then like two days during the week. so like when she goes back to her mom's after the weekend especially of having fun it's just like

01:28:07 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

does that make it harder because i do know you know both you guys uh shannon and kevin have uh the week on week off does it make it harder if you split it up because i i would wonder which one is easier on the kids but also easier on you yeah you know the weekend the week on week off is

01:28:27 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 4:

better so there's not a lot of mixing but like what i usually do is it's kind of funny but i call her every day like when i know she gets home and just ask her just random stupid questions

01:28:39 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 2:

yeah just how's your day or like yeah just just to have her in your life every day thank you ron

01:28:45 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

i appreciate your call uh what's up alissa hi hey i have i have kind of a similar but yet different situation because i have a sibling that gets involved so in the summertime or in during the school year my son goes every other weekend to go see his dad but then in the summer we do every other week so then we go from having him all the time to having to split him and my daughter's three so then on the weeks that he's gone she gets so sad and just makes everything hard and she

01:29:22 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 2:

plays differently and it's tough on that aspect as well yeah the the tough ones are the the parenting where the one parent is out of town and then the kids have to go all summer long

01:29:34 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 5:

uh that i had that growing up i had a stepbrother and stepsister that would come

01:29:39 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 2:

live with us the whole entire summer and then for you when you get older you want to be home your home is where usually where your whole year is right you know ash what's up it's mojo in the

01:29:50 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 3:

morning. Hi, good morning. I just texted in my almost four-year-old. She'll be four in October.

01:30:00 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 4:

her dad for the first time a year ago this month um and she just this past friday had her first ever overnight with him um and it was the hardest thing i've ever had to do i bet what were you

01:30:14 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 5:

doing that whole night were you just trying to get your mind off of it or were you just

01:30:18 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 4:

sitting there crying yeah well i did cry i told her you know if you want to come home at any point just call um they called me about six times within three hours um and she did at one point ask to come home but then two minutes later asked to watch who we do and she was fine

01:30:37 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 5:

yeah that's got to be tough it's especially especially when you know it's it's uh something that's new the the first time doing it it's got to be the toughest um texter here that i just love is 517 who says thank you for talking about this because i am sad every single time this happens with us and i think i'm the only one to hear you guys talking about that makes me feel good and another texter here says i'm the child of divorce i listen to you guys all the time i am only 17 years old and i cry every time i leave my mom or my dad oh yeah what's up tara

01:31:17 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 3:

hi so i'm sorry i'm really emotional thank you guys for bringing this up and uh yeah that tester hits hard um i'm the i'm the child of a divorced family and i'm divorced i have a nine-year-old um but her dad and i came up with we were one week on one week off and it was just really hard on her because she has um step siblings at her dad's house and she's an only child at my house my husband and i have actually been struggling with infertility for a year now um so it's really hard for her so we came up with five days at mom five days at dad's two days at mom's two days at dad's and then we kind of just start rotation over it was hard to get used to at first as the parent but she absolutely loved it um she felt like it was more of a blend of both families rather than missing you know everything and just honestly being communicative and being open and honest with the other parents um it's great when you can blend and share things together for the kiddos because honestly it's all about the kiddos well that's the thing i was going to ask

01:32:29 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 5:

it's got to be i know in shannon's case where they go to their dads and you know uh they've got two other siblings that are be there and then they go to yours and they got two other siblings there yeah all the you know situations where the kids are all together same time because imagine what it'd be like for a kid if you're all of a sudden your brother or your sister just leaves you know and has to go over to somewhere else right so it's it's got to be tough even for the kids when

01:32:58 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 1:

they start transferring yeah and that's going to be a huge change for us in the next year you know Andrew's getting married here in a couple of days and so they're gonna that's gonna be a different situation as his fiance and her kids move in and then Wes and I I swear we are getting married at some point and then his kids will move it's gonna be really interesting it's gonna be a lot of changes to the situation Kevin bringing a new baby that's exactly what I was gonna say and Kevin having a new baby

01:33:27 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 5:

he's really excited to be a big brother too so that's cool well I just want you guys to know this, when you guys take days off or vacation days, I get very sad.

01:33:38 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 1:

Because you're taking those vacation days, too. Come on.

01:33:42 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Okay? What people don't understand

01:33:51 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 5:

is when everybody takes vacation days, we all do it and we transfer over at the McDonald's. For some reason, that was where my friends always...

01:33:59 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's. Parents always did it at the McDonald's. I see it all the time. Kids love it.

01:34:03 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 5:

Get him a Happy Meal slushie.

01:34:05 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's when my mom had to get me a Happy Meal because this is going to be sad. But my dad just didn't show up. So she would be like, get him a McFlurry. Oh, Mike. Oh, God. There's a lot of trauma there.

01:34:14 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

01:34:16 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:34:18 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 5:

I checked the news just a second ago.

01:34:20 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 1:

I did, too.

01:34:21 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 5:

Because I'm telling you, first off, let me say this about the sub. I did not know that the area that potentially the sub could be is the entire state of Connecticut, they say. That's how many square feet that it is. So imagine a full state is where they have to look for a sub that has gone missing to go down and see the Titanic.

01:34:44 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 1:

And the race against time continues with that. They're saying less than 24 hours left. And what I mean with that is 24 hours of oxygen left for the five human beings on board. That's all.

01:34:56 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 4:

Isn't the problem the O2 scrubber?

01:34:58 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like there's so many. issues here so there first of all if the sub has lost power which it probably did it has no working propellers lights or heating so the passengers are in total darkness and temperatures that are like in the low to mid 30s okay um experts say the crew on that ocean gate sub have only a very very slight chance of surviving like maybe one percent however hope of finding the crew on board has grown because rescue groups, and there are various ones trying to help find this thing, you know, with the U.S. and Canadian Coast Guards, they're reporting hearing banging sounds in 30-minute intervals near the area where they think this submarine disappeared. So there is a little bit of hope there. This is former Coast Guard Captain Andrew Norris speaking.

01:35:51 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 3:

If you do find it, what then? the united states navy has a command with some submarine rescue vessels and those vessels are capable of going down and actually physically attaching to a sunken submarine and and physically allowing people to be removed from the submarine they can only operate to a depth the most capable platform the U.S. Navy has can only operate to a depth of 2,000 feet. This vessel is at 12,800 feet. So the fact of the matter is, is that there is no vehicle or vessel in the world that will allow these people to be removed from the submersible itself. Yeah, he actually was chatting with

01:36:37 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 1:

Herbie Levin from TMZ yesterday. Here's more from that. The way to kind of summarize what

01:36:41 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 2:

you're saying it sounds like is that this would not only take a miracle it would take an

01:36:46 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 3:

unprecedented one. Yes I agree with that and I think really I'd say a series of miracles which would be that finding it and then as the Coast Guard Admiral and this is not being critical in any way I think it's a very realistic statement in the press conference yesterday the Coast Guard admiral of the first district said effect some sort of rescue that's uh and so you know if you find it then respond to whatever the circumstances are you find and with whatever gear you have and

01:37:17 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 4:

you hope that they all match up here's the weirdest part they say that the door to the thing locks on the outside doesn't lock on the inside so you can't get it in and didn't you say they had to drill it set that's that's one of the the things they'll need tools to be able to get into it and then did you see the story yesterday about the guy that was supposed to be in this And canceled at the last minute Yes And he canceled for this very reason That he felt like these guys didn't have their stuff together Yes And he felt like, you know There was something telling him not to do it It's kind of like the people Well, it's like the people that didn't take the flights on 9-11 You know, for some reason or another That was my uncle

01:37:53 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 1:

Called off work that day Crazy Wow Have we talked about the family who's suing this company too?

01:37:58 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's a family that what? That also was on?

01:38:01 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

They paid half a million dollars and the guy just kept canceling and canceling and canceling and wouldn't return their money. So, like, there's some sketchiness all around here. Yeah. Okay, President Biden's son Hunter will plead guilty to federal tax offenses and avoid prosecution on a separate gun charge in a deal with the Justice Department that came down yesterday. So he will likely spend zero time behind bars. He will plead guilty to the misdemeanor tax offenses as part of this agreement. The agreement will also spare him prosecution prosecution on that charge of illegally possessing a firearm as a drug user as long as he adheres to conditions set forth by prosecutors. So this deal ends a years-long investigation into Hunter and also prevents a trial that would have generated days or weeks of distracting headlines for the White House. Sources say the Justice Department would recommend probation for the tax charges, meaning Hunter, again, will not face time behind bars. However, that final decision is up to a judge. Donald Trump responding to this news yesterday, writing that the quote-unquote corrupt Justice Department under President Biden had given Hunter the equivalent of a traffic ticket. And then the president and the first lady releasing a short statement saying they love their son and they support him as he continues to rebuild his life. Fans are convinced that Travis Scott has moved on from Kylie Jenner to SZA. Now, all eyes are on Kylie and Timothee Chalamet, right? But fans are like, wait a second. What's going on between Travis and SZA? It's seeming like they are in a full-on relationship, and nobody's paying much attention to that because all eyes are on Kylie. He did a surprise performance with SZA at her show in the UK. Yeah. Like a week ago or a week or two ago. And fans were posting that and saying, like, they're making the dating rumors official by appearing together.

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 2:

So, I don't have confirmation of anything, but word on the street is that they are absolutely together.

01:40:06 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 3:

They make great music together.

01:40:07 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes, this is so hot, too. I'm just letting Kemp dance for a second.

01:40:18 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 3:

Next story's got a good song, too.

01:40:20 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Lotto. Let's talk about Lotto. She is opening up about getting a BBL and liposuction. I thought everybody was getting their BBLs removed, but she just got one. She did an interview with Cosmo, and she says she got a BBL. Actually, she got it in 2020. She also got 360 lipo, so stomach, back, sides, her whole torso. But she said, you know, I'm realistic here. I know I have to maintain it. So she says she just hired a trainer, and she said that after the surgery, she made a promise to herself to stay in the gym to maintain her physique rather than having to undergo additional plastic surgery procedures. So she said she's trying to hold herself accountable after having all of that stuff done. Is BBL the best butt, right? Yes, Brazilian butt lift. Okay. Rip me out the plastic, boo. What?

01:41:09 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Megan. What? I said rip me out the plastic, boo. Go ahead, Megan. Oh, my God. Go ahead. No, I'm just kidding.

01:41:18 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 2:

Megan, what were you going to say? Just we love honest celebrities. Yes.

01:41:24 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Megan. Now back to you

01:41:29 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

01:42:26 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I got a mouthful of peanut butter.

01:42:32 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that looks really good.

01:42:34 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 3:

What are you eating? Shailene. Oh, I'll explain it in a second. Shailene?

01:42:38 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

01:42:39 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

Hello. How are you?

01:42:41 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 1:

I am great. How are you?

01:42:43 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 3:

We should do the show one day where all of us have to do it with a mouthful of peanut butter.

01:42:48 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

I think that's a great plan, actually.

01:42:50 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 3:

I apologize.

01:42:52 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 1:

Did you just scoop it?

01:42:53 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

No, I had an incident happen to me yesterday. First off, let me just tell you that you won tickets to go to Lollapalooza. That's a tough one to say with a mouthful of peanut butter.

01:43:02 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Thank you so much.

01:43:05 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

You won Lollapalooza tickets.

01:43:09 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Thank you. I'm literally shaking. Oh, my God.

01:43:14 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, and more. Get your tickets at Lollapalooza.com. Four-day festival. You got a pair of tickets to all those days, okay?

01:43:25 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, yes. Thank you so much.

01:43:27 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 3:

So let me tell you what I had happen to me last night, Shaylin.

01:43:30 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay, what happened?

01:43:31 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 3:

So I ordered, because I wanted to be healthy, Beyond Juice. Not Beyond Juice, but Beyond Juice. It sounded like that with the peanut butter. I was like, people are like, why would you do that? Juice. So I ordered Beyond Juice. And I did it on their app. and I got a bone to pick with the Beyond Juice people because, so here's a little word of warning and I found this out, by the way, from some of the owners. Order on the app because the prices are cheaper on the app than they are on the delivery services.

01:44:11 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, good tip. And they deliver.

01:44:15 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

And they deliver and I believe that you can even get it. I don't think I paid delivery charge for this. But let me tell you the one downfall to this whole thing. So Luke wanted a drink I wanted a drink And I wanted this peanut butter wrap That's on their kids menu It's really good It's like almond butter I think it's peanut butter or whatever In bananas and all kinds of stuff Okay Well I ordered it While I was sitting on the toilet And I did not get Because when you order on the app You don't get the immediate like how DoorDash does, calling this place, waiting for the order to be confirmed, stuff like that. All you get is...

01:45:00 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 1:

get nothing until you get an email sent to you well i thought oh i didn't press you know send on this so i hit it and i ended up ordering my same order twice so get an extra what does a guy do that's my size he tries to eat both both delivery items that come here and then i realized oh my god that's too much so i got sick so i brought the remaining in for breakfast today i know it's not a really interesting story to listen to but to be honest with you i'm fascinated actually seriously try it chaelin it's so good but make sure that you wait for the confirmation email to come okay because that was that was my problem what would you guys do so here's a question to ask you what would you do if you accidentally ordered the same order twice would you call them and ask them to only give you one would you get both of them and eat them both at the same time or would you get both of them and eat one one day and the others the next day i choose c i do exactly what you did yeah you're a sensible person and also very skinny i wanted to eat the whole thing like i'm the person like if i order it all i gotta eat it all at the same time you

01:46:13 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 2:

know depends on what it is too how long is it gonna last will it last till tomorrow because if it's not gonna last till tomorrow then yeah right like if it's sushi i'm calling them you're

01:46:21 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 3:

gonna call them you won't eat it all no i'm not gonna keep that in the fridge sushi doesn't

01:46:26 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 1:

last to the next day it grosses me out yeah see we take sushi home with us like we'll do leftover

01:46:31 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 3:

sushi that's because an hour later you're hungry exactly yeah with sushi you always feel like

01:46:36 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 1:

you're starving then right afterwards what would you guys what would you do kp if you were double

01:46:41 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 5:

ordered yeah mic's off here we go if i double ordered i'd eat both yeah that's just that makes

01:46:48 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 4:

me happy yeah i don't care megan what would you do well thankfully i live with somebody who's always down to eat so i would just take it to him but if it was just myself yeah i'm a pretty

01:47:02 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 1:

wasteful person i'd probably just get it and throw it away yeah yeah you megan first off i hate eating out with megan because she makes me feel horrible over the fact that she brings everything home with her she won't eat in front of you she eats very very slow and then takes it all to in a to-go box It makes me feel really bad that I'll ask for a to-go box for nothing.

01:47:25 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to defend Megan here. She doesn't eat slow. She just can't eat because she does a lot of talking, if that makes sense.

01:47:33 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah. Is that defending her or is that saying that she talks too much?

01:47:36 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm saying that if you're going out to eat with Megan, she's listening and talking to you and conversating more than she's eating.

01:47:43 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say the opposite of that. I was going to say Mojo asks way too many questions. Dad, Andrew, all the questions.

01:47:48 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 4:

Ding, ding, ding.

01:47:50 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 1:

Yes, exactly.

01:47:51 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't also like eating out in public.

01:47:53 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:47:54 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:47:55 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 1:

You like eating at home?

01:47:56 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm.

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 1:

Do you eat naked at home or something? Is that the reason why? Why?

01:48:00 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 4:

What?

01:48:01 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 1:

No, why do you like to eat at home?

01:48:02 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Shannon, for having the proper response to that.

01:48:04 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 1:

No, some people that don't eat at home, I don't understand that.

01:48:07 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 4:

I find that people in public are pretty judgmental. I don't like eating in front of people that I'm not super close with. I find it very uncomfortable. Yeah. And I also think that, like, I'm a big girl. No matter what I do, I know I'm getting judged by people. If I'm eating something healthy, it's getting judged. If I eat my whole meal, I'm getting judged. If I get something unhealthy, I'm getting... I don't feel comfortable eating in front of other people. When did that start? When I got fat.

01:48:31 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:48:32 - 01:48:33 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:48:33 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

I do feel... I look around me, though, Megan. I get that whole idea of not feeling comfortable to order certain things. Because I do look around me, and if the people around me are very health-a-types, you know? Like, they're really healthy.

01:48:45 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

01:48:46 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 1:

They're like healthy-types. Health-a-types.

01:48:49 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 3:

That's a new word.

01:48:50 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 1:

If they are people that are all ordering salads and stuff, it makes me feel really bad about wanting to order, you know, like a Reuben or a big juicy burger or something.

01:48:59 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Also, I don't think people realize how much they comment on what other people eat until you're big. And then all of your comments really sink in deep, even if they're not about me. If they're about other people, I know that you're thinking or saying that stuff about me. Right. So it's just like not worth it to eat in front of people.

01:49:16 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I was telling this to a friend the other day that all it took was one person to judge me, and now I feel everybody does.

01:49:24 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. You sit at a table, and one person says, oh, wow, and I immediately don't want to eat in front. It could be about somebody across the restaurant. I'm never going to eat in front of you again.

01:49:33 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Even honestly, people aren't even looking at me, and I feel like they're rolling their eyes at me. What's up, Eric? How you doing?

01:49:40 - 01:49:41 | Unknown:

Oh, great. How are you?

01:49:41 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic, Eric. What's happening with you?

01:49:44 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 6:

I over order and I try to eat all of it And then 20 minutes later So like crap every time

01:49:50 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah it's the worst My over ordering was just hitting send twice Like I thought I thought to myself because Chelsea's out of town And she said you know she

01:50:00 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 3:

made a comment to me about going out to lunch and she's like and i'm going to a tigers game today and she's like hey you gotta like you know like she's actually been really good about my being conscious of me and giving me like encouragement and stuff but she's like you and luke should do like a healthy dinner tonight so i did beyond juice that was a healthy dinner but i ordered it twice yes you know what i mean like i thought we're here for for a good time not a long time

01:50:26 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 4:

Amen, brother. Talk to him.

01:50:29 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 3:

You can come out to eat with us anytime. We'd love you.

01:50:32 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'll cook it too.

01:50:34 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's good. No, that's excellent. Yeah, please. Thank you for the call, buddy. Take care of yourself. Yep, have a good one. Texter here says that they did exactly what I did. They ordered on the app, and for some reason the app screws them up all the time. And they said that they ordered double the amount of wings and pizza. One hell of a party. can you imagine just your big order of having just a ton of stuff what's up Shelby hi

01:51:02 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 4:

hi how are you good what's going on uh I just had a comment about the over ordering yes so one time it was a mobile order and it didn't seem to go through just kept saying air so we ended up ordering about 50 60 dollars worth of pizza and by the time it was actually delivered they had like 10 pizzas waiting for us we don't want these i'm sorry and they're like oh well i was like i can call and have them like refund it for me because they didn't have the money to spend you

01:51:35 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 3:

know sixty dollars on pizza right did they did they just give you the pizzas then since they

01:51:39 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 4:

made them all um they offered but you know it was just me and my husband at the time so we're like

01:51:45 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 3:

you know pizza's not as good as it was um so somebody just texted in something interesting And thank you for the call, by the way. Hey, did you guys do your Chipotle challenge yesterday? Do you remember we were supposed to do that? We got to go and see who gets the most servings. The story was, and Shannon brought this up in the dirty, the story is that guys get bigger portions than women get at Chipotle.

01:52:11 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 1:

Even if you're standing right next to each other. And that's what this woman on TikTok observed. is like if she's ever standing in line like right behind a guy, he always gets way more than her of the same thing.

01:52:23 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 3:

We have to try that because honestly, if that happens, that's like a conspiracy. They've made him a very good deal. Oh, hold on. Oh, crap. I thought I had... Oh, you recorded over the Chipotle thing

01:52:34 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 1:

I did.

01:52:34 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 3:

from yesterday. The person from yesterday, the woman that was there, the TikToker, observing this, I wish that she had video to the whole thing to show it Because I swear to you, I think that they do that also with people who are skinny versus people who are larger size like myself. Like, I think that the people who are skinny get much more than the people who are larger sizes. It's almost kind of like they're judging and saying, yeah, they have. And by the way, those spoons are way small at Chipotle. Have you noticed how small those things are?

01:53:11 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 1:

You mean the spoon that they use to make your order?

01:53:13 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 3:

That they're scooping up, like the chicken or the steak or whatever it is. And by the way, the Chipotle steak is always tough. I agree. Don't you? Yeah. It's horrible.

01:53:25 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but it's the only thing where they can undercook it and I still won't die.

01:53:28 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:53:30 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 4:

The rice spoons are always massive, but the protein spoons are like the size of a spork.

01:53:35 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they don't give you enough error. All right, here's that lady.

01:53:37 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 2:

What happens when I go to Chipotle and there's a man who's ordering before or after me, And I notice that our portions Are like completely different But when we get to the register We're paying the same price If I'm getting the woman portion I need to get the woman pricing as well

01:53:54 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes It is what it is They should do the whole way thing at the end Just like they Don't they do that at certain places I've seen that Where's the places that do that Where they put it up on a It's like a Menchie's

01:54:08 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah like Froyo

01:54:09 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes They do that They put it up on there And they weigh it And then you pay based on the weight of the whole thing And that should be how they do the thing Because it's ridiculous That you know You do the whole hey Like I do the little wave thing with my hands Like more more more So where are we going Is any excuse to go to Chipotle Is an excuse I'm ready for So I think we could do this KP I don't know if you got the ability To be able to find somebody to video Maybe we can get Zach or something to do it actually Zach might be a good person to go every person here goes through and see who gets the bigger bowl and then we weigh it at the very end and then we have to do the walk up to them and tell them the official hey he got more than I got and then you know what it is it's like living in my house with six kids

01:55:00 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 2:

at Christmas time. Mojo the Marnie Show. Daddy-daughter dance. So, they just sent this to us, Shannon. Who is this?

01:55:22 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 6:

Her name is Amber... Oh, God, now I got out of my Instagram. Her name is Amber Beckowitz.

01:55:28 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 2:

Amber Beckowitz. She was a winner of Daddy Daughter Dance tickets, and she did a Daddy Daughter Dance proposal. She showed up at her dad's house.

01:55:39 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 6:

Yes, she calls him Big Sexy, by the way, not dad.

01:55:42 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 2:

She pulls up. She's got a sign that says, Dad, will you go with me to the Mojo in the Morning Daddy Daughter Dance? And dad is coming out of his garage doing dad things, things in his garage. And this dad was so excited. Take a listen to this. This is her walking up to a surprise dad.

01:56:02 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 5:

So it says, Dad, will you go to the 2023 Daddy Darter dance with me? You're my touchdown. Hell yeah, I'll go to the dance with you. Yes. Where's this at? It's a night out on Friday. Yeah, I'll go to the dad. I'll be there.

01:56:23 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 2:

I love it. He's like doing the moves, dancing and stuff. Could you imagine if he would have said no? Oh, my God. Would she have sent it to us? I don't know. This was so cute.

01:56:31 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 5:

I love it. It's my daughter. Yes. I watched you say Mojo in the morning. Did you really? Yeah.

01:56:39 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

01:56:44 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait, buddy. You wait till you meet me. Mojo, baby. He's lifting his shirt up. Oh, my God. I love this guy. Thank you, Mojo. You're welcome, buddy.

01:56:54 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 6:

I appreciate it, Rob. You're awesome. Big sexy. He's coming to the daddy-daughter dance.

01:56:59 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 2:

Beautiful daughter, his beautiful daughter there. Oh, that's awesome. Cannot wait to meet you on Friday at District 142 and cannot wait to meet Dad Maurice and Daughter Q. What's happening?

01:57:11 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 5:

Hey.

01:57:12 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Daddy-daughter dance. Congratulations, you got tickets. Thank you. Thank you so much. Friday, we will see you. Cannot wait to meet your dad. Perfect. It's such a fun time. Do you have any other siblings? Because I want to make sure everybody gets tickets if they, you know, I don't want to, even though you should be the special one.

01:57:34 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

I am the special one because I'm the only girl, so. Oh, then forget it.

01:57:37 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes, just you and your dad, okay?

01:57:40 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay, thank you.

01:57:42 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 2:

We're looking forward to it. We'll see you Friday.

01:57:45 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 3:

I see it.

01:57:46 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 2:

Holly is also in. Holly.

01:57:49 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 4:

Hello. What's up, Holly? Nothing much. Just trying to get my dad some tickets. He's retiring. So it'll be a special.

01:57:59 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 2:

Is he really? How old are you, Holly?

01:58:02 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm 25.

01:58:03 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 2:

Really? And how old is dad that he's getting to retire?

01:58:07 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 3:

He's going to be 58 in July.

01:58:10 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What did he do for so long?

01:58:12 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 3:

He's an engineer, 40 years.

01:58:14 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 2:

Man, you know what? We got to then throw a little party for him. We'll have to do a toast to him, raise a glass to his retirement.

01:58:20 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes. No, I'm excited, hopefully.

01:58:23 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be fun. And Friday, we'll see you at District 142. It's in Wyandotte. Lydia will give you all the information, okay? Awesome. Thank you so much. Hang on the phone. If you want to go and you don't want to wait to win tickets, you can buy tickets for only $25 a ticket, and the money goes right to breaking and entering Christmas Wish. And you actually will get VIP tickets. So you'll get to go into the VIP area, the VIP balcony at District 142. You can purchase those tickets. I haven't seen and haven't gotten a count from Julie yet on where we were at. I know we were less than 100 tickets yesterday, so I can't imagine that we got too many left. So go again to mojointhemorning.com, our social media, wherever, and you can purchase those tickets. Speaking of dads, I know Lydia's grabbing information, but it would be appropriate if I did Lydia's topic here next. So Lydia is the person who screens the calls here on the show. You'll get a chance to meet her at the Daddy-Daughter Dance on Friday if you already haven't. I know many of you have already talked to her. She spent Father's Day with her dad and her brother and had such a great time with her dad that she decided that she was going to take this one step further with her brother. And what were you guys planning on doing?

01:59:44 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're planning on taking my dad on a trip for the next year, but I wanted to start planning now because we realized we had such a good time together. because my dad and I and my brother, we don't get to spend a lot of time together. My brother lives about two hours from us, so we had a really good Father's Day together.

02:00:00 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 5:

And I brought up that we should all take a trip And all I meant Me, my brother, and my dad But my mom didn't get that memo And she was offering to come with us And she was like, yeah, we can do this And go here And I had to stop mid-convo And I was like, you're not coming with us Aww

02:00:20 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 1:

So leave your mom By the way, Lydia's mom is quite possibly One of my favorite people ever She reached out and wished me a happy Father's Day before the weekend. Like, she's one of the genuine, most kindest human beings in the entire world. Not to Lydia.

02:00:37 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 5:

She's nice, but she's not coming. It's just a siblings and a dad kind of thing, you know? You just want to spend one-on-one time with that parent. And my mom and I spend so much time together.

02:00:49 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:00:49 - 02:00:59 | Speaker 5:

Like, we've talked about on the More Mojo podcast how we have that one person that we call after the show. she's my one person and then when i get home she's talking my ear off and then we do other

02:00:59 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 2:

things together so i get it have you ever had that happen to you where people were planning on getting together or planning on doing something but they're planning on it right in front of you and you're the odd person out you're just assuming that you're going to be part of it because here you are playing it your mom was playing you know right there when you were doing it did your mom go out with you and your brother and your dad she did so if she's there then she's the all right We're all planning on a trip together.

02:01:26 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 5:

No, her and my sister-in-law can stay home. It's okay.

02:01:30 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 2:

Where are you thinking about taking dad?

02:01:32 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 5:

I wanted to take him to Mexico.

02:01:34 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. That's a nice trip.

02:01:36 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we wanted to do something, you know, a little bit different than we usually do.

02:01:39 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

Just the three of you guys then, huh?

02:01:41 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think that would be fun.

02:01:42 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because it can't be that you're all of a sudden not inviting mom and then all of a sudden inviting gas station guy and your sister-in-law and, you know, Like, it can't be that mom's the only one out. She is, by the way, the nicest person in the world.

02:01:56 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 4:

But she also is the only one out. It's everybody but mom.

02:01:58 - 02:01:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:01:59 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, my sister-in-law's not invited either.

02:02:01 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:02:02 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's in law, though.

02:02:03 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

I kind of get that, though. This may be a dumb question, but are the vibes different with dad than mom, and you want those vibes to be, you know, what's happening?

02:02:11 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 5:

They both give pretty good vibes. Just sometimes the mixture of the vibes are too high for me when we're all together.

02:02:18 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 2:

I think that's nice. as a dad i would love to be able to spend time you know with and we and i do and chelsea and i are very good about we take our kids separately on things and go do things together like i spent so much time with luke that i gotta you know do this uh where i try to equal out the time with the other two boys you know what i had happen to me on father's day right i was home by myself with Luke okay Chelsea went on a girls trip Father's Day weekend she left on Father's Day weekend and she and her best friend Leah left so I got contacted by Leah's husband Dennis who also was left by himself and he lives in Los Angeles and he was home with his sons by himself I was home with my son by himself and so Dennis and I both said that next Mother's Day We are going on a guy's trip together. Yeah. Because what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Whatever that's saying. Right. What a baby's baby. They went down. They went to Florida as girls together. And I thought to myself, I'm like, wait a second. It's Father's Day weekend. And then I got the whole thing from Chelsea where she said, she called me Father's Day morning. So she was one of my first phone calls. Wish me happy Father's Day. and then said, um, your card is in my top drawer of my, and did that, and then I go and I open up the card, and she got me, and it was actually kind of cute. I actually thought it was good.

02:03:49 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 4:

She's the best gift giver.

02:03:50 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what I got for my gifts?

02:03:51 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 4:

What?

02:03:52 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

A homemade card. What she wants. So she made out. She made that? She made me out. Well, I put the heart on there, because I thought it was cute. No, I know. Can I tell you? Yes. Okay, that's adorable. I just know that if she was listening right now and you called her, she would go, I don't

02:04:06 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 4:

care.

02:04:06 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 2:

I know. I know I want to make it sound like I'm really even more lonely. You're right.

02:04:12 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 3:

She would be like, goodbye. Do you know enough about the girls' trip that it couldn't have been any other weekend? Yeah. It didn't have to be this weekend?

02:04:19 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, I talked about how they went down to Florida to go see that comedian. Okay, got you. The man-hater comedian. The housewife-hater or whatever the heck. I don't know what it is. The one that doesn't like the, or I don't know. Chelsea walks around with a hat on that I go, that is horrible. It's horribly offensive, but I wish I would have thought of it myself. It's something that she sells, I guess, on her website. It's the C word that you're not supposed to use. Only women can use the C word. You know what I'm talking about? I didn't know that. Yes, you're not allowed to use the C word unless you are a woman with the C. Hello? Chels, I was just having a discussion. with these guys about how you left me on this horrible time on Father's Day horrible time yeah it was Father's Day and you left me for a girls trip you're not my dad I've done my job

02:05:20 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

making sure you had 28 Father's Day 28 years of Father's Day and so don't make me talk about one

02:05:29 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 2:

be ruined for me oh no no come on all right we'll talk to you later by the by the way i just want you to know this that next mother's day i'm doing a guy's trip with dennis as a payment back to you and lita for this and i say go see that megan was right Megan was right on that Starting now Megan predicted Starting now Is that what you said? Yeah Megan predicted that That you would have no problem with this That it wouldn't even bother you If I said that

02:06:03 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 1:

No problem No problem at all Which means I was I was

02:06:10 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 2:

She's right a second time

02:06:12 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh She's been right all morning

02:06:14 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, Megan has never been so right This is horrible

02:06:21 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 1:

I can't hear Megan

02:06:22 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes, good That's by the way How do I get to the point Where I can't hear Megan either I'm going to go on this trip With Chelsea With not you Yeah Yeah, by the way By the way This is the thing though If a guy were To go plan a guy's trip On Mother's Day weekend No way It would never pass There's no way I would never hear The end of it

02:06:49 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 1:

You better tread lightly, sir Tread lightly.

02:06:52 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what did I do? Uh-oh.

02:06:54 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 1:

Do you want to talk about the Mother's Day that you never even acknowledged when it was Mother's Day?

02:06:59 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Go ahead. Go ahead.

02:07:01 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 1:

When we had a two-year-old and a four-year-old? What did I do? Wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm trying to get your back.

02:07:06 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 2:

You're going to tell me this part. Go ahead.

02:07:10 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. It was the first year that we moved to Michigan. So I was away from my family. and we um it was they okay there was a breast cancer walk in Chicago so you wanted to go to Chicago to see your family and we were going to do this walk in honor of Chicago yes yep I made t-shirts for everyone in the family with your mom's picture on it and then we do the walk we're driving home it's about four or five o'clock at night on Mother's Day and I call my mom and I I said, Mom, I just want to wish you Happy Mother's Day. And you looked at me, and your face went totally white because you realized not one time did you say to me Happy Mother's Day. So guess what, sir? You idiot. Payback.

02:07:58 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, come on.

02:07:59 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Boo, Mojo.

02:08:00 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Come on, boo. All right, girl, boo.

02:08:04 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 1:

But I'm not your mom, so it's okay. It's okay.

02:08:07 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. I like how you said this. I'm not your mom, but it's okay. But you just told the whole story. So it wasn't okay. It was not good. You got to make it up. That was not good. I've made, well, I can never, you can never, no, you can never make up something like that. You can never make up, you know, that. But I think I've done pretty good since then, haven't I?

02:08:30 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 1:

I mean.

02:08:32 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:08:32 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Adequate.

02:08:35 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 2:

I just want you to know that in a year from now, Chelsea, I'm going away. Yeah.

02:08:41 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Please go away. By all means. No, no, no. That is not a threat to me.

02:08:45 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 2:

In a year from now, I'm going away with Lydia's dad, Lydia, and her brother. I'll go. By the way, this is how it goes sometimes, where I really don't care about it that much, but obviously you still care about it because you just brought it up, right?

02:09:06 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Because you're making me look like an ass on the air, and so I just wanted to let everyone know.

02:09:11 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not making you.

02:09:12 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 1:

You're the only ass in the house.

02:09:15 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 2:

You got a much better ass than I do. All right. Listen, I don't care that you were gone. It was just, you know. Oh, what was that?

02:09:25 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 1:

That was the ass.

02:09:26 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 2:

It was the UPS.

02:09:27 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 1:

Moving the chair. Moving the chair on the tile.

02:09:29 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. I don't care that you're gone. I just care that you come back.

02:09:36 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

Are you coming back? I don't care that I'm gone, but you keep on bringing it up.

02:09:39 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 2:

By the way, did you know that while you're gone, our son had a little shindig at the house?

02:09:45 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 1:

I did know. I've been talking to him about it.

02:09:48 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. It was a, see that? I was a responsible dad. I stayed up all night with those guys, making sure that everybody was okay. You know why I stayed up, don't you?

02:10:00 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 5:

Why? Because they ordered food? Because I know. No, I couldn't fall asleep. They had one kid in the basement. I think Luke said it was Joe or Paul or something like that that kept screaming. It was like out of the blue, Paul. It was Paul, he told me. And I can't get what he was screaming at. All of a sudden, out of the blue, it would just be like a random.

02:10:22 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 3:

Were they playing video games or something?

02:10:24 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 5:

I think they gamble now. Like, I kind of get this. Oh, okay. Do you think that he's gambling now, or what do you think is going on?

02:10:29 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 7:

I think they were playing poker. But, yeah, I think they were playing poker. That's what they were doing. Yeah.

02:10:35 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, listen, I love you. I will talk to you later.

02:10:38 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 7:

Okay, I'll talk to you later.

02:10:39 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 5:

All right, bye. Never in my entire life have I witnessed something backfire so hard.

02:10:44 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that was bad.

02:10:46 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 5:

Man, if I knew that it was going to be like that, I never would have called her. What's up, Jillian? Hi.

02:10:53 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I was just about to say the same thing. Oh, boy, did that backfire on you.

02:10:57 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you know, usually I'm really smart about the direction I take some things in the show. That might have been the one time in my entire life that I realized that the direction didn't go well. But you know who took it that direction? Who took it that direction, Jillian?

02:11:14 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I still think you did.

02:11:16 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Megan took it that direction.

02:11:19 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 6:

I just brought up that she would have said fine go. I didn't say you should call her and rehash bad memories. You did that on your own.

02:11:28 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 5:

She threw me right under that bus there.

02:11:30 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 7:

I cannot throw you under anybody, so I'll tear you.

02:11:33 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 5:

Diana, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:11:35 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 7:

Hey, well, my husband used to go on a Mother's Day fishing trip. Without me, I would have two small boys, and I'd be at home with these boys. And it was a customer, but the customer invited him to go to Canada on this Mother's Day fishing trip, and he would go. And here I would be with these boys home alone And it seemed weird back in those days When you had small kids that you didn't have

02:11:59 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 5:

Do you think we can call my wife back And you can tell her that I'd like to compare your idiot husband to me Is that possible?

02:12:08 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 7:

Well, I did get a car out of it Oh, really? I did eventually One time, so he comes home and he tells me Well, this guy's got a car And it was this like It was a used car But the guy was in business where he could get a new car every year. And it was a pretty nice car.

02:12:28 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Well, listen, I'm going to let you go before I get into worse trouble here.

02:12:33 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 7:

I appreciate you so much.

02:12:36 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much for calling in and making me feel even worse. All right. All right. Take care. Bye.

02:12:43 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:12:46 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 5:

All right. Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30 this morning.

02:12:49 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so a lawyer for Robert Kodak Black is just slamming the prison-free deal that was reached by the Justice Department and the President's son, Hunter Biden, yesterday. Why? Well, Kodak Black charged with the same federal weapons crime as Hunter, who again got zero days in prison. Kodak Black was sentenced to over three years in prison. So Kodak's criminal defense attorney said there's no such thing as not getting jail time at a gun charge. Like, how did this happen? The Justice Department announcing yesterday that Hunter agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failure to pay federal taxes. He also agreed to enter into a pre-trial diversion agreement for a separate charge of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful drug user.

02:13:35 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 1:

They've made him a very good deal and he sucked it up like a Hoover Deluxe and I can't blame him.

02:13:43 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 2:

Hunter Huffins paid the overdue tax bill, more than $100,000.

02:13:47 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 4:

A lot of times, with tax evasion charges, if the defendant or taxpayer pays the money, which apparently he did in 2021, was late, then there's not much of an appetite to go after them criminally.

02:14:00 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Hunter is also expected to reach a deal on a felony gun charge. He's accused of lying about his drug use on an application when he bought a firearm in 2018. Experts say it's rare for the Justice Department to bring a weapons charge against a nonviolent offender. The White House saying in a statement that the president and first lady love their son and support him.

02:14:21 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 5:

By the way, that is that true, though, about the weapons charge thing? Because the fact that we did talk initially when this first came out and it was part of that whole laptop, the Hunter laptop. And a lot of people were calling us up at the time and they were saying that the weapons charge is the thing that you'll get. Like, if you lie and say that you have never committed a crime, which he obviously did, he committed a drug crime, that a federal offense is bigger than even not paying your taxes.

02:14:53 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

So not getting it. And also, he's off the hook for some other possible charges that he was facing. Money laundering, bribery, human.

02:15:00 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 1:

trafficking as part of that plea agreement that was reached yesterday so uh also an update about something else while we're talking about hunter biden he and his baby mama have privately settled their child support dispute in the state of arkansas london roberts is the mom of hunter's four-year-old daughter navy agreed to her he agreed to her twenty thousand dollar monthly child support payments being slashed to a reduced monthly payment of five thousand dollars uh this is an interesting story we were talking about this on our group chat yesterday a robot could be coming for the jobs of music producers and talent show judges like simon cowell according to new research he could be totally replaced by ai scientists have been using ai to identify hit songs with 97 accuracy and basically they're doing this by using neurophysiological data they can almost perfectly identify a hit song so they they basically look at the neural activity of people to see what's happening in their brains when they play music or snippets of music um and it's kind of crazy because nothing close to this accuracy has ever been shown before and with like tens of thousands of songs being released on a daily basis it's really challenging for apps like iHeartRadio, Spotify, Tidal to select which songs to add to their platforms to their playlists and so previous attempts to identify songs that will resonate with large audiences have only had maybe like a 45 50 success rate this ai method is more than twice as effective um and i don't know the part of the story i don't understand is where they're saying it could make tv talent show judges redundant because they're saying ai these robots are replicating replicating excuse me the simon cowles of the world at a significantly reduced cost but I'm not understanding, like, why.

02:16:48 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 3:

But nobody's going to sit there and watch a show for a computer just to spit out what Exactly. it is.

02:16:51 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 1:

That's my, like, I read this thing and I'm like, well, I don't get that part.

02:16:54 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 3:

You know what I was thinking about with this? Is I was thinking about what if Megan was right all along with the songs that she likes and she has to get another you're right from Tony Travato now on all the songs that she likes that she'll be like, why aren't we playing, you know, Bill Johnson?

02:17:14 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 1:

And the AI data is showing that that's a hit. It's going to be a hit.

02:17:17 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 3:

Megan will randomly throw out songs sometimes And I'll be like what song is that And she'll be like I'm telling you it's a great song

02:17:22 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 2:

And then like two months later we start playing it all the time Weird Why do you think it's so hard for you to say That I'm great about things And that I have good taste

02:17:31 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Every song that Louis Capaldi has put out Is a fantastic song

02:17:37 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay

02:17:37 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 3:

I love him

02:17:38 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 2:

Love that I love that for us I'm still not sure why we're not playing Renee Raps in the kitchen But it's fine I'll just throw it out there for people to search on their own

02:17:46 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 3:

The band is Rene Raps in the Kitchen or it's Lewis Capaldi and Rene Raps in the Kitchen?

02:17:51 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 2:

Song title.

02:17:52 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. All right.

02:17:53 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 1:

Have you heard of that song, Kevin?

02:17:54 - 02:17:55 | Unknown:

No.

02:17:55 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. You can look for it while I do this next Friday. But I need an Adele song.

02:17:59 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 3:

I guarantee that Rene Raps in the Kitchen is not in our system.

02:18:02 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 1:

Adele bought Sylvester Stallone's L.A. Mansion for, I think it was like $60 million, $58 million last year. Okay. Well, there's one signature piece that is staying in place at this mansion, and it's a statue of Rocky from the movie franchise. Really? So, Sylvester Stallone, so I just did an interview with the Wall Street Journal, and he confirms that this poolside statue was part of the deal of Adele buying his home. He said he wanted to bring the statue with him, but she said, if you bring it, we don't have a deal. That will blow the whole deal She wanted the statue And she wanted it exactly where it was at the pool

02:18:44 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 2:

So he gave it to her

02:18:46 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 1:

He was like it was really sentimental to me Hi this is Sylvester Stallone

02:18:49 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 2:

As Detroit wakes up with Mojo in the morning Yeah

02:18:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

And lastly I had to do the story Because it has to do with the favorite topic of our show poop A discussion about ghost poop Is happening right now on TikTok Okay So let me explain A ghost poop can be used two different ways One, it's a term you used to describe when your poop sinks to the bottom of the toilet and then it vanishes without a trace. So, like, have you ever gone to the bathroom and then you looked in the toilet only to see your poop disappear in that little hole? That means you've experienced a ghost poop. The same thing goes if you've wiped and there's nothing on the toilet paper. You had a ghost poop, my friends. With tens of millions of hashtags on TikTok about this, please know that is the healthiest kind of bowel movement you can have, according to doctors. It's the sign of a healthy gut. You've got the fiber. You've got enough essential fatty acids. Your circadian rhythms are in tune with nature and the light and dark cycle of the day. It is the perfect recipe for that ghost poop. And according to nutritionists, it also means your body is properly hydrated. So we should all be striving to have ghost poops. Ghost poops.

02:20:00 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:20:04 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com. Mojo in the Morning. So, Shannon, she thought that you had plastic surgery. And interestingly enough, she actually asked you about it. Usually that's something that people won't ask you about, right?

02:20:32 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 2:

I actually kind of love, like, if, I don't know. I don't mind that curiosity, but this was funny and not funny for her. She was absolutely mortified. So if you've been listening to this show recently, I had a cancer scare. Doctors actually thought I had lymphoma. And so this went on for, like, months and months. And I finally had a surgery, like, a month or two ago, to remove some lymph nodes in my left armpit. okay so I had this lymph node excision I have a scar in my left armpit that has actually gotten so much better since I had the surgery but it's still noticeable like today if I'm wearing a tank top and I lift up my arm especially you can see or you could see it like from the side so over the weekend I was at the playground with the kids and this mom that I know came up to me and she said I have been meaning to ask you and actually with what you're wearing today it reminded me did you have that surgery where they sucked out your armpit fat because i really want to get that done and i don't know if i want to know if it really works i love that that's a thing i didn't know that was a thing uh yeah so but the look on her face when i was like oh i actually had a cancer scare and so that scars there from a surgery to get it all out poor thing she was so don't you love it so mortified oh i thought it was hysterical she's still texting me apologies as of last night

02:21:56 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 1:

i was still getting apologies from her that's like uh great well well i think that the by the way

02:22:02 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 2:

thankfully i do not have cancer that if you didn't hear that but um yeah oh she it was like the color

02:22:07 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 1:

drained from her face did you let her linger for a second no that was from a cancer scare like let her linger and then just look and then go oh it's okay my god i thought you had that done

02:22:20 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 2:

And I and she's like, and I noticed that a couple of weeks ago you had a bandage under there, you know, when the kids were at baseball.

02:22:25 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, it's OK. But I didn't have that. That is as bad, by the way, as the person that walks up to somebody and says, oh, when's your baby do, you know, or something like that. Or, you know, does that and they're not pregnant. But I here's the thing. People will ask questions sometimes. And I don't know if this has happened to you. People will ask questions sometimes that you're like, I cannot believe that they just asked that. And I get called out all the time for the fact that I ask the inappropriate. And I do it only on the radio. I don't usually try to do it, you know, in public or in a radio setting. In the radio.

02:23:07 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, even yesterday at the start of the show, you said, did you have your lips done?

02:23:10 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:23:11 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, I don't get filler. I had a lip flip a couple of weeks ago That's not filler

02:23:15 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

She walked in here She had these big old ginormous lips going

02:23:21 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 2:

I was like that's called allergies My whole face is swollen Girl now you're lying Oh no I really have never Tell us the truth Nope I put on some lip gloss And I was biting my mouth Let's see Call Lindsay at Muse and ask her what I've had done I get a lip flip like every four or five months I get lip filler 10 out of 10 would recommend. Yeah, I'm too scared to get filler.

02:23:45 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:23:45 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:46 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

You're not telling us the truth?

02:23:47 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

No, I swear to God I am. It's not bad. I'll tell you everything I get. I get laser hair removal. I sit on a chair to help me not pee, so it tightens my vagina. I get Botox in my forehead, crow's feet, and on the top of my lips, so like right under my nose. But I've never, I don't get filler.

02:24:02 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Is that it?

02:24:03 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 2:

Teeth whitening. I'm really still thinking about getting a boob job, but I can't decide if I want to or not.

02:24:11 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 1:

What do you want to do?

02:24:13 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 2:

Like, I want to be like a bee cup.

02:24:16 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:24:16 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You should do it.

02:24:18 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 1:

By the way, KP just comes in.

02:24:20 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 2:

So don't ever say that I won't tell what I have done, okay?

02:24:23 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

I think KP's got something really important to come in and talk to us about. She brings in a free smoothie from Freshie. I'm so excited, guys. I know. And then I heard that you were thinking about getting a boob job, and I was even more excited. Door slams.

02:24:38 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 2:

But a lot of people are having their boobs removed.

02:24:40 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 1:

She already had a boob job, so she just doesn't want anybody to know about it.

02:24:43 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, right. My boobs are, like, inverted. What is it? I had boob jobs. Reversible. Do it. And if you don't like it, get it undone.

02:24:51 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I would do investigating on that before you do it. Because of the- Which I've thought about this for, like, 15 years. There's a lot of people that- A lot of people get the boob jobs, and then they get-

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 2:

run across. Like an implant illness. Yeah, that's something that's a real deal. I don't know. Allie, what's going on?

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you guys?

02:25:08 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 2:

Good. Were you calling up to ask Shannon about where she gets her lip filler?

02:25:12 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't get filler. No, not exactly. I was actually calling about the scar comment. I recently had a complete neck dissection for a thyroidectomy because I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. So I have an incision that goes from like my left ear to almost my right ear and at the gas station one day the attendant told me he liked my necklace oh geez but was did you tell him puerto rican necktie

02:25:40 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

that's a great answer but that was he was he obviously just he probably felt like crap didn't

02:25:48 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 1:

he afterwards he yeah he he realized what it was before he even finished the word necklace and he felt awful but we both had a pretty good laugh i have pretty dark humor so i thought it was pretty

02:25:57 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 2:

funny oh yep yep yep i used to ask this question all the time of people like can you ask hey where did you get that scar because there are times where you'll see somebody instead of just saying hey we're you know like how in shannon's did you get that certain thing i was like hey tell me where you got that scar you want to ask that question well here's the reason why because you're coming right out instead of staring yeah you're coming right out and saying that to them and actually somebody told me that they they thought that it was you know if it's done tastefully if It's like, hey, you know, I never heard, you know, how did you get that scar or something?

02:26:30 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 3:

I never know, though. That could be somebody's worst nightmare and then reliving it. Like, no, no, no, no. Really?

02:26:37 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 4:

That's an interesting question because I teach my kids, especially when it comes to kids with disabilities, though. If you are curious, let's ask. Let's ask about it so we can learn more instead of just staring. And Hope Sovereign, who you know, Mojo, Nancy, her fabulous mom, said she always appreciates it when people just ask. And they can share their story Instead of just staring Yeah

02:26:58 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 2:

The great people The Yeah Well I Listen I will say this I had open heart surgery So I have a scar On my chest From when they opened me up The only problem With my scar is That I think they went A little crooked Like it kind of like Or either that Or my My man teats Are a little Pushing it aside

02:27:19 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 4:

Do you not grow hair Like to cover it

02:27:21 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 3:

No I do No hair Can I see it Yeah it kind of grows over I actually haven't seen it They messed up my scar, too, and I've had it since I was essentially born, and kids used to ask me about it.

02:27:30 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 2:

It looks like zits right now, but that's how it is.

02:27:33 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 3:

Wait, Megan, you had a stomach thing? Yeah, and kids used to ask me about it all the time, and they messed up my scar, and it's like the thing I am probably most self-conscious about. Like, don't ask, don't say what it was. Like, I absolutely hate it. It's so ugly. I hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it.

02:27:52 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 2:

I never knew you had stomach surgery.

02:27:55 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 3:

I was like two weeks, a week or two old.

02:27:58 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so when you were a baby, okay. Megan, what's going on?

02:28:02 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I wanted to call and let Shannon know. I recently was thinking about getting a breast augmentation and I've done the deep dive about breast implant illness and decided against it. But I found something called AirSculpt. And so I had it done and they take that from like wherever you want, like your size or your abdomen in my case. and they inject it into your breath. So basically my deflated nursing breaths are now a little bit more inflated again.

02:28:31 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's interesting. Did you get it done in Detroit, Grand Rapids, or Toledo?

02:28:37 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 5:

The closest office is in Chicago, but there's a lot of offices throughout the U.S.

02:28:42 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Interesting.

02:28:43 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 5:

So look up AirSculpting. Thank you. That's really interesting. You're welcome. Yeah.

02:28:47 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 2:

Any side effects to that? Because I know that they haven't come up with it yet, but they always end up having a side effect sometime or another.

02:28:53 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 5:

So they say you can, like, go back to work the next day. And, like, you are sore and you're wearing kind of, like, a compression suit for a couple weeks. But, I mean, I still had to take care of my kids and stuff. So it wasn't that bad. But some people get, like, Brazilian butt lifts. There's all kinds of, like, air sculpting procedures.

02:29:11 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 2:

Do people notice, like, and go, hey, did you get your boobs done?

02:29:16 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 5:

Not really because they look the way they looked before I had kids, which is exactly what I wanted. I wasn't trying to, like, say anything. Right. They were literally just, I was so self-conscious just wearing any tops that showed cleavage because there was, it was just skin.

02:29:32 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 2:

It's amazing what kids do to your vagina and your breasts. They suck the life out of you, ladies.

02:29:38 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Literally.

02:29:40 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:29:41 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 5:

Yep.

02:29:41 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Mojo in the Morning Show. Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Mike, Kev, KP, and Lydia. Um, it's kind of nice to hear that, uh, Megan's having this happen to her. Not that I wish upon anything bad.

02:30:00 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't add to anybody, but it's nice for somebody that will make fun of boomers so often for her to say that she now is starting to feel like one.

02:30:10 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 2:

What do I make fun of when it comes to boomers? What do I make fun of? They deserve everything they get. If they're going to talk down to me, I'm going to talk down to them. But now I feel like karma is biting me in the ass because of it. I mean, you are right. Right. I think that's going to be the phrase of the day is you are right. And Mojo, the second time for you during one of my topics, you are right. I definitely deserve what is happening to me. It is, I wouldn't say instant karma because I do feel like this has been coming for quite a while, but I am in this very frustrating phase of my life. And I say phase because it seems to be haunting me everywhere I go. But all of my technology is breaking around me, and I'm too embarrassed to ask for help and come off like a boomer. So essentially, I'm just not fixing anything and living my most miserable life currently.

02:31:04 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 1:

Really? Like what's breaking on you that you can't figure out?

02:31:08 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 2:

So couldn't tell you why, but for some reason, my primary bedroom in my house is the only one above 80 degrees, while the rest of my house the ac is working and it is below 70 degrees and i can't seem to fix it i've tried googling it like four times i refuse to call somebody out to fix it um because i feel like this is something i should do myself but i haven't been able to find the solution so i just sweat all of the time now my personal favorite is um my phone won't connect to my bluetooth in my car anymore and i'm not kidding you it drives me irrationally angry like sometimes i feel like i am the it's my villain origin story the fact that my phone won't connect to my bluetooth and i can't figure it out and i spent i am not kidding you two and a half hours deep diving in on the internet unplugging my car battery and got to the point where i refused to schedule an appointment at a dealership to try to fix it because that is absolutely embarrassing do you

02:32:06 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it's your phone or do you think it's your car?

02:32:08 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

It's absolutely my car because I did have to go to the Apple store and it's not my phone. It is my car. And I refuse, I absolutely refuse to go to the mechanic over a Bluetooth not connecting my phone. I can't stand the judgment. I cannot. No, no, no. That is absolutely embarrassing.

02:32:24 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Is your clock still blinking 12 or what is it? Is that one of those two? You can't remember that when you'd go over to your grandma's house and your grandma's house would have the VCR, would have the clock on it, and it would always blink 12 because grandma couldn't figure out how to set the time. Or the oven. Or the oven is another one, too, where you can't figure. Which, by the way, you'd think that nowadays everything would be so easy to do. Sometimes in your car, it's not. like my car thank god is a uh a newer tahoe but the older tahoe it wasn't like automatic where the time would switch when it would go daylight savings time and you would set the whole thing and it'd be great and then you'd go okay great i said it and then go back and look and it's like still the same time and it would annoy the crap out of you and it was you didn't press set you it was save or whatever it was at that particular time. Megan, are you usually like the tech genius, though, when it comes to this stuff, or no?

02:33:22 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm absolutely not, but it does drive me nuts when my dad can't figure out the printer, and I'm like, I don't know, just Google it. And now it's gotten to the point where I've Googled it, and I can't figure out the answer, and I refuse to ask for help because I have been so just not helpful to other people in the past that I can't ask for help.

02:33:38 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Somebody needs to explain something to me. Are printers like iPhones where after a certain time they just break on you so that you have to buy a new one? I can never get, and people are like, why do you need a printer? Well, there are times where you need to print stuff. Very true. And there are, which by the way, there are times, I even had this week, I don't even know why this was. I had to do something with the state for breaking and entering Christmas wish. And they asked me to fax. I go, what? I'll pay you later too. I said, put Gretchen Whitmer on the phone. there's no put her on the fax i'm telling you but no they did they asked me to fax something but a printer is interesting i have bought more printers for our house for my children you know in school and stuff every gd printer in that house lasts six six months in a day and then it doesn't work anymore and you cannot get it to wirelessly print crap right you know yes i totally know i feel like a boomer too and always the instruction is did you try restarting it

02:34:42 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 2:

have you tried to restart do you know okay okay fun fact when it comes to my um my bluetooth in my car i can't even figure out how to restart it because everybody says that it's the computer issue in my car and i can find it for the updated model of my sound system but i cannot find it for current model of my sound system so it's saying hold down these two buttons and it'll reset i don't have the two buttons i don't have the buttons the best thing the best thing ever though is youtube

02:35:09 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 4:

when people started just youtubing it and then the there was one guy that would do i think it was for the printer that i saw this he goes and if you have this printer just turn this youtube off and get another one because he actually said it was so bad emily what's going on good morning how

02:35:25 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 1:

are you guys good morning we're doing good frustrated yeah uh megan i the bluetooth in your car i just went through this last week um i don't know how to do it uh but i drove a ford and i had to do a hard reset on the software my husband did it i want to say he looked it up online um but it worked and i haven't had any problems since i know you don't want to go to the dealership but maybe call them maybe if you have a friend that works for the whoever makes

02:35:53 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 4:

the model of your car she basically flirts with uh gabara all the time why can't he do this because

02:35:58 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 2:

i don't want to admit to him that i can't figure it out it's embarrassing oh geez come on he's not

02:36:03 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 4:

gonna he won't rub it in he'll just make you have to go sit he'll make you sit through another boring dinner with him to do this thing is it worth a boring dinner with steve gabara to get your clock fixed or whatever you need fixed or your bluetooth uh what's going on mo hey how are

02:36:19 - 02:36:46 | Speaker 3:

you good what's happening um i just wanted to uh let her know that okay when she disconnected the battery did she did she put did she put the positive terminal and the negative terminal together i don't know okay am i on the radio right now yeah you call it oh wow wow wow You have to record this. Okay, so next time...

02:36:46 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you have to record this. Do you know how to do that? Do we need to teach you how to do that? Okay.

02:36:50 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so what she's going to do is she's going to take the battery heads off. And as she takes the battery heads off, she gets a zip tie. And with the zip tie, she's going to want to reset.

02:37:02 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 4:

If you got it, by the way, if you got to use zip ties, then there's something wrong. Why are you using zip ties?

02:37:08 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I'll explain it to you. When you take off, when you take off positive and negative, you need to take off positive and negative. That's going to reset the computer and the vehicle.

02:37:23 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:37:24 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Now, as she disconnects positive and negative, when she does that, she needs positive and negative. She's got to make those touch. No, he's trying to kill me.

02:37:37 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 2:

No, he's trying to kill me. This will electrocute me. I'm not that dumb. I'm dumb, but like... It wasn't for her.

02:37:43 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 4:

This sounds like Bluetooth fluid. By the way, Mike, he sounds like a Mo, doesn't he? Yes. He sounds like... Yes.

02:37:50 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 2:

The number one they teach you not to do when you jump a car is don't touch the cables. Don't do positive and negative. You're literally trying to kill me. Mo. This is a crime. Mo, what city are you in?

02:38:00 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm in...

02:38:02 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 4:

Let me guess. Warren. Are you in Warren?

02:38:04 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm in Nova.

02:38:06 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 4:

Nova. Okay. All right. Can you just come to the studio or down the street and just fix this for her?

02:38:11 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I will. So, listen. All right. All right.

02:38:18 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 4:

We'll talk to you. Thank you, Mo. I appreciate it. All right. We'll be.

02:38:22 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 2:

I just want to know what I did to him that he thought the best solution is trying to kill me.

02:38:27 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the zip ties are to kidnap you, I think. Be right back. Mojo on the morning show. so kev from our show kev's girlfriend cherelle was out of town i saw this by the way she was uh speaking had a speaking engagement where was she by the way where she was in baltimore and she was flying to go to this and like a little quick one like in and out yeah baltimore merlin she went

02:38:58 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 5:

out there and uh spoke on a panel with some other incredible ladies so cherelle uh tell everybody

02:39:04 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 4:

about why this amazing woman is so amazing aside from the fact that she sticks with you through all the stuff that you say what does she speak about like what is the subject matter so um so

02:39:15 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

sherelle she put a book out called prisoner's kid and it talks about her journey of having both of her parents incarcerated and everything that went on in her life and she turned her life into a testimony and a way to help others and millions of kids you know have parents that incarcerated you know as you look at the numbers and uh she owns an organization a foundation called pure heart that serves children of incarcerated parents and has mentors and gives them opportunities and scholarships and a lot of cool things so even drives them to go visit their parents yeah that's awesome a lot of these kids aren't able to actually you know go visit their parents a mother says you know multiple children how do i take one it's extremely weeks.

02:40:00 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 2:

expensive. You got to drive all day, find a hotel, gas, food, all of that. Yeah, because the prisons

02:40:05 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 3:

aren't in populated areas, right? They're off in the middle of nowhere. By the way, I learned from Sherelle and I did not ever know this, but if you have a parent that is incarcerated, you have a greater chance of you being incarcerated. And I did not even know this. If you have another parent that's incarcerated, we're both are incarcerated. You have another greater chance, right? And you are also a child of a parent that was incarcerated, your dad. You think about this. You think of what Shirelle has done with her life. She has gone and gotten highly educated. She has started organizations to go and to help those that were in situations that she was in. But then she got together with you.

02:40:51 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 2:

You saved the best for last,

02:40:52 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 3:

right? That's what that was. No, honestly, seriously, the two of you guys together.

02:40:56 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

This is incredible, though. Yeah, it's cool. It's good to know. She's amazing. So, look, so, yeah, so she had the talk or the panel discussion in Baltimore. First off, lost her luggage. So imagine going and having your outfit prepared and all of that only to not be able to wear it. So that was the whole thing. And you're pregnant. And you're pregnant. So the beautiful thing about being pregnant that I'm learning from her, as soon as she gets to the car when I go pick her up from the airport, I'm like, babe, you know, how was it? How did it go? and she took a sigh she said everything was great you know when you're pregnant people want to do everything for you i didn't have to pull a bag i didn't have to wait but the lady that i sat next to her daughter who's a baby an infant boo-booed on herself and she had to change the diaper right next to her on the airplane oh no sitting there in the seat and all you can just see is all of these colors and all of this smell stuff and you're already pregnant so things are already Smelling crazy for you

02:41:49 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 3:

So the person sitting next to her Child dutied And she didn't go to the bathroom On the plane to go get

02:41:57 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 2:

She didn't get up And Sherelle's like She's probably tired Well smells also too

02:42:03 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 3:

Probably start bothering you when you're pregnant

02:42:05 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 2:

She said everybody in the airplane Had their nose plugged The air conditioner was on So it was just blowing everywhere But it was like the plane ride from the end I've dealt with crying infants before I've never had anybody, like, poop next to me. Like, that's enough. Yeah, yeah.

02:42:22 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Did they change the baby on the tray table?

02:42:27 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

I didn't ask her. I imagine so. It's like if you go into the bathroom. Or on their lap.

02:42:31 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 1:

Like, moms get so good about doing it on their lap, but still. That's a risk. Yeah, that's a risk.

02:42:36 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 3:

That is wild. So, by the way, they had a study that revealed the most annoying things that passengers do on a plane. and you'd think that screaming kids and crying kids would have been the number one thing. It wasn't. It actually had to do with people taking their shoes off. People find that to be highly awful when they take their shoes off. And smells, smelly foods brought in from the terminal where people buy food in the terminal and they will get, I don't know, Quiznos. For some reason, remember Quiznos?

02:43:10 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Is Quiznos still around?

02:43:12 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. It was the grilled sub place, right? But some guy brought a Quiznos on one time when I was flying back to go to Chelsea's parents' place in Arizona. And all I remember was this guy ate the probably smelliest sandwich I've ever had to sit next to for four hours going back. Oh, it's awful.

02:43:31 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

The thing that pisses me off the most when you're on airplanes is people, as soon as it lands and the seatbelt goes off, everybody stands up as if you're just going to get off the flight immediately. Yeah. Like, you're in 32B, bro, window seat, sit down. You're not going anywhere. Right. Why are you standing?

02:43:48 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 3:

You know what it is? It's our natural, you know, I guess, instinct. Rush, rush, rush. It's our instinct. I do this all the time. I do it at church. I do it at sporting events. I mean, hell, I do it here at the radio station. When the show's over with, I'm, like, ready to go hit the door, you know what I mean? Or if I'm at, say, a Lions game, I'm at a Lions game, I'm looking at that clock the entire time going, all right, what are the odds the Lions can actually win this game? All right, I've got to get to my car because the whole thing is you want to beat everybody out, right? You don't want to be sitting there waiting.

02:44:17 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 1:

But you're right. On an airplane, you can't. Exactly. You're not beating anyone. It's not possible. It's not possible.

02:44:22 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 3:

There was a story that I saw on TikTok, and maybe you guys saw this too. The person on TikTok that was sitting by the guy with the feet that were-

02:44:30 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he was sitting in front of him.

02:44:31 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 3:

Yes, right? And he started pouring a can of Coca-Cola on the guy's feet.

02:44:37 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Wait, but you have to, the guy had nasty, dirty socks on and had stretched his feet like so far under the chair that his toesies were poking through the chair in front of him. He just poured coke on him.

02:44:51 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

He was pouring like the drink on top of the guy so that it would be wet and the guy would feel the wetness of that.

02:45:00 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 2:

Actually, it was a woman. So a woman on the plane, this is the TikTok, a woman on the plane behind me kept her smelly feet underneath me. She stopped as soon as I did this, and you see the Coca-Cola being poured onto the sock. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's the most annoying thing that you ever had to deal with when you were on a flight or a train or a bus? Any kind of transportation Where you had to sit by somebody That was doing something There was a guy that was on We were taking a shuttle bus And we were going It was the shuttle bus that takes you To the airport parking And the guy is on the bus And he is cleaning his teeth Out

02:45:46 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 4:

With a pick?

02:45:47 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 2:

No, with the receipt from A little card thing that you get your car Out of the parking lot with And I'm going, I hope that that receipt doesn't work when you put it in there and you have to pay for like a week's worth of, you know, parking. It's like the most disgusting thing ever is he's sticking this thing in his teeth and doing that the whole time.

02:46:06 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 1:

Do you mind, like, say for example, I know people when they take flights, they just want to go to sleep immediately.

02:46:10 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:46:11 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever been in a situation where you're asleep and then the food cart comes and the person wakes you up and is like, do you want something? Like, are you okay with being woken up if you get your drink and your pretzels?

02:46:23 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, anytime, I won't turn food down for anything.

02:46:27 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 4:

I won't turn sleep. Like, leave me sleeping. Please, please, please leave me sleeping.

02:46:30 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 2:

No, you know what, though? That does happen from time to time, and it has happened, where the cart comes by and they offer you the free food, and they'll leave it for you, and they don't know that the people I'm sitting next to don't know. My family's sitting across the aisle from me.

02:46:47 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:46:47 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 2:

And Chelsea one time told me that the people sitting next to me ate my food and drank my drink. Because they left it for me to wake up with. And I'm like going, God, they didn't give me anything at all. And I was sleeping. And Chelsea's like, yeah, the people are clean.

02:46:59 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

02:47:01 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 2:

So what do you do? But you know what? They needed it more than I did. I needed it to sleep more. I'm the worst. I fall asleep, and I always have this fear that I'm going to fall asleep and sleep on somebody's shoulder.

02:47:12 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 4:

Me too. And I do the head bob. I go forward and move myself the whole time. I know I'm going to do it one time.

02:47:17 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Misfit Victor is on with us. What's up, Victor?

02:47:20 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning, Megan. We were flying back, this was years ago, with Spirit from New York, and the captain makes an announcement that we're, you know, descending or whatever, about to land. And this guy in front of me stands up, opens up the overhead compartment, pulls out a Tupperware container with the smelliest fish sandwich I have ever encountered in my whole entire life. It smells so bad that a row over, this lady starts throwing up in a bag. No. Oh, that would get me going. Okay. I mean, thank God we were about to land, but he couldn't wait.

02:48:00 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Imagine what that – where again were you guys flying to and from? Detroit, too. From New York. From New York. Can you imagine that you waited the entire time to pull that thing out? And it was sitting up and – it was heating up in that thing. Uh, Vicki, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:48:19 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 5:

Hey, so I went on a flight once that, uh, we were delayed and sitting at, like, sitting on the plane, but at the gate, just stuck there on the tarmac, and this guy, for four hours, this guy was popping his zips and his blackheads, and then, oh, it makes me sick, and then sniffing his fingers. Oh, my God.

02:48:46 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 2:

uh sarah what's happening it's mojo in the morning hi good morning hi sarah you're a

02:48:55 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 6:

plane sleeper yeah i actually was on a flight international flight it was like a 12 hour flight and i fell asleep on the guy next to me um he was sleeping though when i woke up so i don't think he noticed i'm hoping that he didn't notice so i don't want to i don't want to find out that He did.

02:49:12 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 2:

Was he attractive?

02:49:15 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 6:

Yes. He was my age, around my age.

02:49:18 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He was probably enjoying it the whole time. You have this beautiful woman sleeping on him.

02:49:25 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 6:

Maybe. Hopefully. That's how I'm going to keep it in my head.

02:49:29 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 2:

I would have to fly to Atlanta a lot when Norm, our agent, was alive, and we'd go back and forth. And for some reason, I always, when I would fly to Atlanta, would sit next to the most attractive person ever. Like, no joke, like a girl that looked just like Cameron Diaz. Another one that looked like, what the hell was her name? What's the real beautiful Hispanic?

02:49:51 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 1:

Sal Hayek.

02:49:52 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 2:

No, from Fast and the Furious movies.

02:49:55 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 1:

Eva Mendes.

02:49:56 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Eva Mendes. Okay. Sitting next to them. Yeah. Why did I treat that like?

02:50:00 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes, that is. By the way, you're good at that. I always sit next to older people. Do you? So I'm sitting next to these women that are gorgeous, and I fall asleep for the entire flight and never get a chance to talk to them. But for some reason, I always have had, maybe it's from watching too much porn, but I've always had this whole thing where you're sitting next to the hot person, and next thing you know, it's like... Listen, I know I'm a married guy, but you've got to have that fantasy, right?

02:50:28 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 5:

Well, that happened to somebody we know.

Johnny Dare. That's right. Our friend Johnny Dare. You never met him, Kevin, but you will someday. Johnny Dare was on the flight from Atlanta going back to Kansas City. We both were visiting Norm, who we would have loved. And Johnny was basically detoxing from the weekend. He was the last guy on the flight, and he sat next to the hottest girl on the plane. And he said it was the worst thing ever because he was sweating his ass off from running through the Atlanta airport. and then sits next to her, and the whole time that he's sitting next to her and they kind of made small talk, he said he could smell the whiskey from the previous two nights coming out of his pores. But that's the other one, too. You ever sit next to somebody that had garlic and it's coming out of their pores?

02:51:14 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 5:

That was probably me. They know I love my mezza. That's what I was going to try to say.

02:51:20 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 4:

Last iHeartRadio music festival with you. Oh, you know what? I don't even have time for top trending stories. I'm sorry. I apologize. We got caught up with this. You know what's a big story, though? You got to go check it out if you didn't, if you're in Grand Rapids or Toledo, because it probably wasn't covered on your news. The stories yesterday in Detroit about the guys that were trying to light gas stations on fire. Holy crap. The video was like insane. Maybe we'll do an after show on that and talk about that in the podcast. I'm going to a Tigers game today. So, if you do go to the Tigers game today, they're taking on the Kansas City Royals as a day game at 1 o'clock. Come say hi. Do us a favor and say hey to us.

02:52:02 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 3:

What's this? This is for you. Oh, really? Yeah. You were the Samaritan of the year yesterday for Dine and Dash, and Bloomfield didn't reach out.

02:52:10 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 5:

If you didn't hear the – please listen to the podcast about Mojo being a hero and busting a group of Diner and Dashers before they could actually dash.

02:52:21 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 4:

This is from today's show. Oh, this is from you guys.

02:52:24 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and you said you wanted recognition.

02:52:25 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 4:

I got it. On behalf of the citizens everywhere, thank you for your service to make this world a safer place.

02:52:31 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's no key to the city.

02:52:32 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 4:

Kev, wait, Shannon here. You are truly doing God's work. Shannon, you are a rock star. God bless you. Lydia, Misfit Steve, a.k.a. Zach, if I was a waiter, I would want you to stop the Dine and Dashers for me. You are a true hero. Oh, that's beautiful. I forgot my name. I'm sorry. Oh, wait. Where are you on this? Are you anywhere on this? No. Were you the one that said on behalf of the citizens of everywhere? Was that you?

02:53:03 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was me. I forgot what I wrote, but I also forgot my name.

02:53:07 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 4:

And Mike and Megan, I know deep down inside you guys. And they, by the way, labeled it Hirojo.

02:53:14 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 5:

Hirojo.

02:53:14 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 4:

02:53:15 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 5:
