00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

uh daddy daughter dance when we announced lydia everybody knew you because they all talked to you they were they that's how you get your prize or or get to get on the radio as you go through you you're the first line of defense on the phone lines there feels really good to be back and i

00:05:14 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 1:

was really happy that a lot of people didn't know who i am because i don't get to talk much i mean by choice yeah you're not behind the phones well you're not definitely not on the air

00:05:23 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 2:

you know as much as you know the rest of us but man they honestly they how much are you talking to them because I had so many people come up to me and go oh my god it was so great to meet Lydia you know I told her the other day about how and I'm going I don't remember that conversation on the air and I realized they had that conversation

00:05:44 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 4:

off the air. You're like a therapist to so many people who call in and they don't have like somebody to tell their you know whatever too so they want to share with you which i think is a huge compliment and can i say this so when i

00:05:56 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 3:

first started uh one of the things that i did was shadow lydia and i can honestly say lydia is simply amazing and for a lot of people you know who listen to the radio show some of them may never actually get through for whatever reason or they may never meet us in person or they may never get a chance to speak to us but they speak to lydia she is the face and the voice of the on the morning show and she does a fantastic job. I love our listeners. I feel like I'm

00:06:22 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 1:

available around the clock for them. And I truly mean that. Like if you want to text me,

00:06:26 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

call me, DM me, I'm here. By the way, people were concerned about you because she was out sick yesterday with food poisoning. You called in, you know, early in the morning saying that you didn't think you could make it. You were going to try to, but you were very, very sick. What, what, where was it coming out of the bottom, the top? Where was it coming? It was coming out

00:06:46 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 1:

of bolts and um the night before i had had some fast food lately i've been on a fast food kick it's just something that i've been craving and sunday night i decided it'd be a good idea right before bed to get some nice fast food a good quesadilla and uh i ended up on the toilet from like 10 p.m to like good four o'clock in the morning i hate calling off work by the way because I love being here As I was getting up out of bed To try to get ready for work It just started to come up I'm like oh man I'm going to have to call Mojo And let him know I'm not coming in today Libby was like

00:07:25 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

I have FOMO from yesterday I'm like girl You had a day off work You have FOMO? Day off work She's on the toilet No I get it though

00:07:32 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

I always have FOMO When I'm not here Really? So much happens every day

00:07:36 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

I have no FOMO If I'm dutying Or throwing up You know what I mean?

00:07:40 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

No I still feel like I'm missing out on stuff Me too

00:07:42 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

At that point right there I'm like going oh my God, I could care less what I do in my life. I just want God to like get this out of me.

00:07:49 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay, be honest though. Get this demon baby out of me. Because I had, I told you, you know this, I had that horrible sickness over the holidays when I went to see Wess's family in Canada. We had to come back after like 12 hours. As awful as it is, you're pooping, you're puking at the same time. Does a little part of you go, ooh, but my stomach will be like flat. I'm like, I feel skinny. There's always this little part of me that's like, I don't know. It's worth it. It's a silver lining.

00:08:18 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

Actually, think about that, though. That's because you were making the poor choice of having fast food at the late hours of the night. It kind of is nice, though, isn't it? It's like, all right.

00:08:27 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 4:

Terrible thought.

00:08:28 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

Because otherwise you'll wake up with a big old thing in your gut at that time. Wow. So you had this where you're being pampered by your beautiful mom at home because your mom is like the greatest person in the world.

00:08:40 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love her so much. Of course, my mom was at my beck and call, but I was expecting my boyfriend, gas station guy, to also baby me a little bit, and he was just not feeling it. He's like, you're sick. It's fine. It'll pass in like 24 hours. You'll get over it. And I felt kind of disrespected in a way, because I'm like, I want to be babied. Like, you're my man. You're supposed to be babying me.

00:09:01 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Wait, are you guys in good standing? And that's why he said that? Because that's his attitude. We got to talk here, gas station guy.

00:09:09 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 1:

To be fair, we got into a little argument on Sunday night.

00:09:12 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

00:09:13 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

I did hang up on him in the middle of a conversation.

00:09:15 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

And this was pre or post you eating quesadilla?

00:09:19 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 1:

This was pre-quesadilla. Oh, okay. I had hung up on him, and after that, I feel like it all went downhill. Not only out my ass, but in a relationship too.

00:09:28 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

But to be fair, he did say it'll be over in 24 hours, and here you are. Do not defend him. I'm just saying, real quick.

00:09:35 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

That's our girls right there.

00:09:36 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

From a guy's perspective, wait, from a guy's perspective to a very spiritual young lady here, Lydia's, you know, she goes to Bible study at what, Thursday nights, right? Wednesday.

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

She lives the Bible.

00:09:47 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

So let me say this to you. True. Do you ever feel like your comments to him prior to this led to you getting food poisoning?

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Definitely. Maybe we could call it karma. Yeah. Karma?

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what though I bet you baby him When he's sick Yeah and when we have an argument I get over it right away Versus him where he likes to like I feel dragging on a little bit That I'm not so concerned about The next time he is sick Go

00:10:15 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

He'll go away in 24 hours

00:10:16 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 2:

No don't do that Be the better person

00:10:19 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 1:

You know what you should do Rise above Let's buy him a quesadilla

00:10:22 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 2:

Let it sit out for a little while

00:10:26 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 1:

Let it simmer a little bit Devious By the way, I do have to tell you that whenever you do get that food poisoning thing, because instantly you can start feeling the bubble gut right away, and you're like, oh, my God, I can't do it. I can't believe it. Then you start retracing the steps of what did the person in the fast food line look like? What was the inside of the restaurant like? I think about that all the time. Not that I've gotten it fast food-wise, but I've gotten it before at one of my favorite restaurants. And the worst is when you get it at a favorite place Because it's hard to sit there and go Oh, I can't go back there for a while

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 2:

You're ruined

00:11:05 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, I had the worst And it came from one of my top three favorite restaurants that's by my house And the next week, Chelsea and Luke were like Hey, we're going to DoorDash blank And I'm like, yeah, I can't do it I got to give it like one more week at least, you know I don't know what it is, but psychologically And I can't order the item that I had food poisoning with ever again. Yeah. Like a quesadilla for Lydia, it's got to be out of the picture right now. Yeah. Like you can't put that on your menu anymore.

00:11:36 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I definitely eat another one. You would?

00:11:39 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 1:

I know, can you? But not now, though. You give it some time?

00:11:42 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, maybe another week, but I'll be back.

00:11:44 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll be back. The problem is, if you're going to get food poisoning, can I get it with broccoli? Like, can I get it with, you know what I mean? Or cauliflower or Brussels sprouts.

00:11:55 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

Or a restaurant that you're, like, not a huge fan of. You don't really care.

00:11:59 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Something that's, like, 55 minutes to an hour away from my house so I don't have to drive to it anymore.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:12:05 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

You know? Like, that's where I want it. Or can I have it at, like, give it to me at a healthy place. You know? Like, give it to me at one of those juice places that I feel like I'm going to only because I had too many quesadillas the last week. um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 to text is uh 95500 to uh to get through to us um good to have you back lydia good to have you uh here kp great job with uh handling all the tasks and things yesterday uh this morning show is going to be really interesting so the war of the roses the war of the roses is interesting because i want to get into this um after we make the phone call. And after, you know, we hear who the roses are going to, I want to talk about the getting the fake Instagram, the Finsta or whatever, the Facebook or who knows to follow the person that you think is cheating with your significant other. Cause that's what she did. And that doing that is what led to her bigger suspicion about what was going on because of the stuff that she was posting on her private account. Have you guys ever had one? No. Liars.

00:13:21 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely had a Finsta. I had a terrible man. I needed a fake account. I have a few fake profiles.

00:13:27 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

A few? Yeah, Megan, who are the few for?

00:13:31 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 2:

I have fake Facebooks, fake Twitters, fake Instagrams. Oh, okay. I got them all.

00:13:35 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing. You may not have had a Finsta, Shannon and Kev, but you guys have used your friends.

00:13:42 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 2:

No, I've used the Mojo in the Morning account, though. Oh, to try. There you go.

00:13:46 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 3:

And then you show up as they're recommended.

00:13:51 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

00:17:27 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:17:30 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, what you got trending for us this

00:17:32 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 1:

morning on the Dirty on the 30? Well, this is going to be a big story that you are going to be hearing about all day today. CNN aired a recording of former President Donald Trump talking about quote-unquote highly confidential documents at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey back in the summer of 2021. This is CNN's Anderson Cooper.

00:17:52 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 3:

You have obtained what is expected to be a central piece of the government's case against Donald Trump, the actual audio recording recording of the former president talking as if he's showing a highly classified document on U.S. war plans against Iran with people not clear to even know it exists, let alone what's in it.

00:18:10 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 1:

Just to give you a little bit of the back story of what you're about to hear, the former president, and you'll hear this, is shuffling through this big pile of papers while lamenting about his relationship with chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley.

00:18:25 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 8:

Let's see. Isn't that amazing? This totally wins my case, you know. Except it is highly controversial. There's a secret information. Look at this. You know, Jack and...

00:18:44 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 2:

Hillary would print that out all the time.

00:18:47 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 8:

She sent it to Anthony Weiner.

00:18:51 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 1:

Posting to his Truth Social after the release of the audio, Trump responded and took aim specifically at prosecutor Jack Smith and claimed that the audio is actually an exoneration of his alleged crimes. He writes, quote, So, the deranged special prosecutor, Jack Smith, working in conjunction with the Department of Justice and FBI, illegally leaked and spun a tape and transcript of me, which is actually an exoneration. So, I do have more from this, and I'll play you, you know, play it for you in Other Dirties this morning. I'm sorry. What were you saying, Chad? This is what I was waiting for.

00:19:28 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 6:

You know, in all fairness, that dirty was not a big payoff. It really wasn't. Thank you.

00:19:34 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 1:

I just knew it was coming.

00:19:35 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 4:

It is interesting, by the way, it's interesting. Here he is talking about what they're saying that they're accusing him of doing, which is having these classified documents and showing people. But it's interesting how the news media does get the audio in the audio is supposedly the only audio that the prosecutor has. Like, how is it that the media got the audio?

00:19:55 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 1:

That's a really great question. I have no idea.

00:19:58 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:20:00 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 3:

The Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott son is now legally Air Webster. Kylie filed to have her 16-month-old son's name legally changed from Wolf Jacques to Air about a week ago. Remember, she wrote on her Instagram back in March that her son was not named Wolf anymore, saying they just didn't really feel like that name suited him. Rihanna stepping down as CEO of the Savage by Fenty umbrella, which she started back in 2018. She appointed a woman named Hillary Super Who is the former CEO of Anthropologie I love that store But she is going to be taking over Rihanna's position Now despite the change

00:20:35 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 2:

Wait, the lady worked in Anthropologie?

00:20:37 - 00:20:39 | Speaker 3:

She was in charge of it She was the CEO of Anthropologie Oh, okay

00:20:39 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 2:

I thought she was working in one of the stores

00:20:41 - 00:20:43 | Speaker 3:

And now she's moving over to Fenty

00:20:43 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Is Anthropologie though the same level of Fenty? No I mean I don't think anything is the level of Fenty

00:20:48 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, the Anthropologie group So there are a lot of stores under that umbrella So I think she's used to big, big marketing, you know, big money. But Rihanna will remain in a leadership role as the executive chair.

00:21:02 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever see that, though, where you go to the store and you go, oh, my God, that person used to work at such and such store. Like when that happens, has that ever happened to you at all? Like you go in. Recently, I went into in the Somerset collection to Nordstrom's and the girl that was working at Nordstrom's used to work at the Seven Jeans store.

00:21:21 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, OK. Both faves for you.

00:21:24 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, yes, and I love it. And actually, it's wild because of, you know, she said she hopped around because, you know, they had a better offer for her to do it. But whenever that happens, like if you ever see this where like at a restaurant or whatever, where the waitress changes restaurants, it makes me go, what do you know about the other place that's making me not want to go there anymore?

00:21:43 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 3:

You know who I do this with? Marianne, the bartender Marianne. And you know exactly who I'm talking about.

00:21:46 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:21:47 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 3:

Love her. Yeah. But she's hopped around a few times. Where is she at nowadays? I was like, I just saw her the other day at that Hour Magazine party. And now I can't remember what she said. Yep. Okay. Anyway. And guess who is throwing his name into the hat for the Wheel of Fortune hosting gig? Now that Pat Zajac is retiring, bravos, Andy Cohen.

00:22:05 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 1:

Really? Dream job. I would love to. That would be incredible. Not only is a game show the thing that I haven't done yet, but that is the, you know, premiere game show.

00:22:16 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 3:

I love him. That's a great idea. I love him. I feel like he might be too dirty.

00:22:20 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 2:

You think?

00:22:21 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 3:

He has that side to him. I don't know.

00:22:23 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think he's likable. He's so likable. And think about who are the people that are now going to be the next generation of that audience. That's very true. It's all the Real Housewives fans.

00:22:32 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 3:

Very true.

00:22:32 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:22:33 - 00:22:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:22:37 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I do have confirmation that the Ryan Seacrest thing is legit, that there's major talks between him.

00:22:42 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:22:42 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Talked to somebody very, very close to him that said that it would be the easiest thing for him to do, just going in there and film it, and it's not that far from where he lives.

00:22:51 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 3:

And I could totally see him doing that. No, I think it's bad for his image.

00:22:54 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Really? It makes him look too old, do you think?

00:22:56 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 1:

Yes. He comes off way younger than he is. I agree. And I think this is a bad move.

00:23:02 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 2:

But maybe they want to make the show a little younger.

00:23:05 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 1:

They're not.

00:23:06 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 2:

No?

00:23:07 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 1:

They're not.

00:23:08 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 2:

I've always wanted to be the guy that does the Michigan lottery hosting. Okay.

00:23:14 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 3:

You know? Yes. You need to do that.

00:23:16 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 2:

I always thought that would be cool.

00:23:17 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Can they let you do that one time?

00:23:18 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, I remember Chuck Gatica, who's a big weather guy in Detroit, was a big weather guy in Detroit. I remember he used to have it back in the day, and it was a big deal, but I think that it's like, they're very strict on what they can do, because that one's run by the state. All right. You should do it. All right. If they're listening, I will take them up on that offer. Go! Celebrity dirt. I don't know if I can stay up that late at night, though. 00:30:00 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Zero, zero, and we're going to kick off with Megan. I want to start with you, Megan.

00:30:07 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 1:

Me?

00:30:08 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I want to start with you because you have an observation that either people will agree or disagree with. Some women may say, oh, I completely agree with you, and there are going to be some that say, no, I don't agree with you. What's going on?

00:30:24 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 2:

I've been having this really hard time ever since my new favorite obsession has come out, and that's TikTok, because I'm constantly reminded that nothing is ever original in my life, whether that is a thought or an experience or really just anything. And honestly, I feel like I've been getting that a lot lately. I even watched this week, Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret, the movie that just came out. Is it good? It is so good. 10 out of 10. would recommend for everybody i feel like every pre-teen girl needs to watch this movie like but as i was watching it i was like oh my god every girl does this every girl did that wasn't just me we all did that okay so we all did that so i've been having these experiences lately that are just like nope everybody and i i was worried to bring this up with the girls here on the show but i did this morning because i came across a trend on tiktok called uh what is your girl dinner Now, this means, apparently, when girls are alone, we don't cook for ourselves. We make, like, almost a charcuterie board of snacks that we call a meal. And every girl has their own combination of weird snacks that they justify as a meal. And I thought, again, this was just me, but apparently not, ladies. Nope. This is so accurate, I'm shaking. But I think my favorite part of this trend was, although we all come up with our own girl dinner, no two are alike. So even though we all do the snacks for dinner, we don't all do the same snacks. Give us an example. I read my horrific combination because I started going through the comments, and I realized I might have the grossest combination because my go-to girl dinner is potstickers and pickles. Oh, that actually sounds good.

00:32:17 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 5:

What is it?

00:32:17 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 2:

Potstickers and pickles.

00:32:19 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 5:

What's potstickers?

00:32:20 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 2:

What?

00:32:22 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 5:

I'm not here.

00:32:23 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 2:

What's a potstickers? To the Googles. It's like a dumpling, like an Asian dumpling. You can either get them steamed or you can get them fried. A pierogi. So good. Sometimes they're made with pork. Sometimes they're veggie.

00:32:34 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 4:

It's an Asian pierogi.

00:32:36 - 00:32:36 | Unknown:

So good.

00:32:36 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Okay, so you want to know what I had for dinner literally last night? Yes, please. Okay, so I had Ritz crackers, strawberries with that pink yogurt-y, like, fruit dip. Do you know what I'm talking about that you can get at the grocery store? And a Costco fruit veggie pouch that was the orange one, so I think it was carrot orange, mango or something. That is what I had for dinner. And then I took the kids to get ice cream, so I got a root beer float. That was my dinner. Wow.

00:33:05 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 2:

I will open up a can of peaches and eat that for dinner. A can of peaches.

00:33:09 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 4:

You know what Mike, Kav, and I call this? We call this our snacks.

00:33:12 - 00:33:12 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:33:13 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. These are not our guy dinners or drill dinners.

00:33:16 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 3:

But, Megan, do you actually – so what I do when I typically do a dinner like this is I use one of the kids' plastic, like, pre-portioned plates. Yes. So I make it look fancy on one of their little Target teal blue plates.

00:33:30 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 6:

I had a can of peas, some blueberries, and some cheese. It's really good. How do you feel full? You can't feel full. What? What do you think? I don't know. It's helpful. Really? Yeah.

00:33:41 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 4:

Is this how charcuterie boards started?

00:33:44 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 6:

It might be.

00:33:45 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Because charcuterie, by the way, I'm over charcuterie boards. And anytime that people will have a charcuterie board party where that's all they serve is that, I like DoorDash to their house food. Like, I'm like, okay, where's the closest Little Caesars? We're going to get ourselves something.

00:34:00 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 3:

See, I could eat a charcuterie board as my dinner. Like, that could, a thousand percent, I could just keep going.

00:34:06 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 1:

Give me some olives and I'm set for love.

00:34:07 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm good.

00:34:08 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I'm not mad at this. Before I moved in with my boyfriend, I used to have pickle dinner. It was just a bunch of different types of pickles. I miss pickle dinner. Girl, you don't got to miss pickle dinner. I have the best spot, and we are going tonight.

00:34:20 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Wow. They go out for her pickle dinner.

00:34:23 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 5:

I'm not mad at this. This reminds me of back in the day when I used to have the munchies. And you just run in the house and like, okay, there are the chips. There's the Pop-Tart. There's the pickles. And you just eat whatever's in front of you, and there you go.

00:34:34 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 4:

We just don't call it our dinner. We just call it the munchies. What's going on, Michelle? How are you doing?

00:34:40 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. How are you?

00:34:41 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 4:

Good. What did you have for your girl dinner?

00:34:43 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 6:

So, like, my husband works out of town all the time, and when he goes, I get excited because I get to have French onion dip and ball rick chips for dinner.

00:34:51 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that is the best.

00:34:53 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we don't call it French onion dip in our house. We call it FOD just because we don't want people to judge us. whenever we say

00:35:00 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 1:

We had FOD last night. People all go, oh, wow, I want to try that. They think it's some kind of like a fancy cheese. I think it's a pot sticker.

00:35:07 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and I love that she has to wait for her husband to leave. Yes!

00:35:14 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 1:

Anne-Marie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:35:17 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I just want to tell you that one of my favorite things is cottage cheese with jalapenos, then I scoop it up with saltine crackers.

00:35:25 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

00:35:26 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm into jalapenos, so I put them in everything. Okay. People laugh, but it's really good.

00:35:31 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 3:

Go to Costco. You can get the Ritz ones, though, at the big, big box.

00:35:35 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 1:

What's your favorite cottage cheese? Because I like the cottage cheese that's, like, really, you know. The large. I don't like it creamy.

00:35:42 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 4:

I like the Michigan one.

00:35:44 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 1:

Which, Michigan one?

00:35:45 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think it's just called Michigan, made in Michigan. I don't know. I get it at Kroger's. Yeah. But, yeah, I really like it.

00:35:53 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 1:

It's thick. She gets it at Kroger's. I love you.

00:35:56 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo, I want to do a shout-out to a girl I met this weekend. Her name is Colette, and I met her in Saga Talk, and she knows your family.

00:36:03 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. You know who that is? It's funny. I talked about her. On the air, I talked about my brother, Tony, and how he was flirting with my sister's best friend, and I said, Colette Monteleone. Colette Monteleone lives in Saga Talk and was listening to the show, or somebody told her about the show.

00:36:21 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I did. It was me, because she was asking me about a good radio station. And I go, well, you're doing rampage. And I know I don't hurt radio with Mike because, you know, to get it. Yeah. What are the odds?

00:36:31 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 1:

Is that like the weirdest thing ever? That was just like a week or so ago that I brought that up. Thanks, Anne-Marie. What's up, Laura?

00:36:38 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning.

00:36:39 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:36:41 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 3:

Hey, chips and cheese. That's it for me.

00:36:44 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Chips and cheese.

00:36:45 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 3:

Like nachos in the microwave? It is. Yeah.

00:36:48 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

00:36:49 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 3:

Right? Don't put any effort into it. Just throw the cheese on there. Put it in for a couple seconds. There you go.

00:36:54 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 1:

And if you haven't ever tried Ann Arbor chips, you've got to get them. They're the most delicious. They're like restaurant-quality chips, you know?

00:37:01 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. I like the lime ones, the ones with the hint of lime. Hint of lime. Oh, my God. Crack. They got it.

00:37:07 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 1:

They haven't. What's up, Alyssa?

00:37:11 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man.

00:37:12 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

We're doing more. Hold on. Hold on. Morris Code. Wait real quick. Don't say anything. Hold on. SOS? Oh, hold on. Somebody's on the line here. This is coming from Russia. There's a person that is in Russia right now needing our help. What's going on?

00:37:27 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. Oh, no. I don't know why the line is so weird. But my girl dinner is anything left in the freezer, like little bits and pieces of, like, frozen chicken nuggets, frozen french fries. That's, like, not enough for the kids for a meal. So, toss it all in the air fryer.

00:37:45 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 1:

There you go. Why is it?

00:37:46 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 5:

I always think this.

00:37:47 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea gets mad at me for this. But why does she get mad when I only throw, like, three pizza rolls back in the box and throw it into the freezer? She's like, why didn't you just make the remaining three? Yeah. That's like leaving a swallow in the orange juice container. What are you doing? It's got to just down it, right? What's up, Stacey?

00:38:05 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 5:

I like to have grapes, popcorn, and string cheese.

00:38:10 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, string cheese is so underrated. It's so good. I love it.

00:38:17 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 1:

By the way, those things, though, are just – it's nice to have, like, those kind of foods. That's something that when I was dieting or trying to diet, I would go to the Imagine Theater and I would sneak those in my pocket to try to bring in instead of trying to eat the popcorn. I would bring, like, grapes or string cheese and things like that.

00:38:34 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 3:

It's just not the same at the movies, though.

00:38:36 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, you've got to have that big thing of popcorn and some candy. Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:38:42 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 4:

Love you guys.

00:38:42 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Love you. Why don't – hey, if you do this for dinner, why can't we do it for breakfast? Why can't we just go into our refrigerator right now and find whatever stuff is in there?

00:38:50 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 4:

We don't have anything good in there right now.

00:38:52 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

We got, like, if you go into our office, you got, like, I don't know, protein bars from it seems like five years ago. And then in the refrigerator, expired cottage cheese from when Reese bought it for me for my birthday. And then a piece of fruit that used to look like an apple now looks like an orange. Mojo in the morning show. I can't say who this person is because it will get me in trouble, but it's an acquaintance, I will say, and everybody has tried to figure out who it is, and if you want to figure it out, go to our social media right now, and you'll go to our Facebook, and you'll actually witness it for yourself, okay? So you'll have to scrounge through it. I have an acquaintance who is doing something that I consider a foul. It's a social media foul. If I had a whistle right now, I would blow it and I would call a foul on them. They will write a comment on my both personal and our professional Facebooks.

00:40:00 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 4:

which is mojo in the morning on, you know, the professional one. And after they write the comment, they like the comment that they wrote. I'm sorry. Give me a whistle. Does anybody know how to whistle? File. Yeah, can I do that one? I've always wanted to learn how to do that, Ken. Yeah, go on. That's the down the street. That's the dinner. Yeah. Yeah, give me the whistle, and I'm going to file on number 34. five loose ball vile excessive liking you can't you cannot you cannot do that you cannot write

00:40:40 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 1:

on somebody's page and like your own thing i'm like like like like like like like i try to go like like it doesn't happen that way because like everyone can everyone like and i don't know i don't

00:40:53 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 4:

know if this happens to you or if you ever see this but this is something you can't do there's Certain things you cannot do on social media. And this is a person, by the way. I just want you to know this. This is a person that is cool. They're like 34, 35 years old. They run a major marketing company. They have a big company. And they like their own things.

00:41:14 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 3:

I think that's the reason.

00:41:15 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 2:

That's exactly the reason. That's what I was going to say.

00:41:16 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 3:

He knows the algorithm. He knows the insights. I don't care. It'll help.

00:41:22 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 2:

It's a faux pas. I agree with you, but he's doing it on purpose. No. For sure. No. Go viral another way. Yes.

00:41:30 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I hate to say this because this person spends money, but I hate to say this.

00:41:35 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I want to know who it is. Write it down right now.

00:41:37 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

But you look like a...

00:41:40 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

Douchebag.

00:41:42 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 3:

Douchebag.

00:41:45 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, that's what it is. Douchebag. Right. You can't do that. How are you supposed to love anyone else if you don't love yourself? Listen, I never thought of it the way that you just thought of it, Kevin, when you brought that up about the algorithm thing. But still, though, it just looks bad, especially if you're the only like. If you're the only one on there, and it's on. You can go to our Facebook. I want you to go check it out. Go to our Facebook. You can look at actually at some comments, and you don't have to look back very far. But you'll look at some comments, and you'll see the person make a comment, And their comment all of a sudden is liked It's got one like in some of them And it's just him liking the thing It reminds me of When Aunt Pat first got on Facebook When Aunt Pat first got on Facebook She didn't understand some of the things Like she didn't understand the whole wave thing Or she didn't understand Which by the way I hate that thing

00:42:45 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 2:

The poke Can you still poke?

00:42:48 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 4:

She poked a priest Believe it or not Father Mike from our church, she, like, gave him a poke. Which, by the way, thank God that stuff's all gone, right? Hopefully it's gone. They don't do that anymore.

00:43:01 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's like, my mom never got it either. And I would see in my timeline that she would be writing stuff on, like, my ex-boyfriend's and my sister's ex-boyfriend's pages because she, like, you know, loved, for the most part, all of her ex-boyfriend's. And I would call her out on it. And she would go, no, I didn't. No, I didn't. I'm like, Mom. I can see. You probably think that you're sending them, like, a message, but you're posting it. It's public. It's public.

00:43:23 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You can't do that.

00:43:24 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:43:25 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Kimberly? How are you?

00:43:28 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:43:29 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's happening?

00:43:31 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 1:

So I have a coworker who likes all of their own statuses or, you know, reacts to them. Ha ha. That sort of thing.

00:43:39 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 4:

You can't do it?

00:43:40 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 1:

All the time.

00:43:41 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 4:

Do you tell them that?

00:43:42 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

It's so weird.

00:43:43 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry.

00:43:44 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't have the heart to tell them.

00:43:46 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 4:

I feel bad even having to bring this up right now, but I can't tell them face-to-face or, you know, in a text message.

00:43:56 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 2:

So you're just hoping it gets through. I'm hoping that this way. Maybe they'll be listening.

00:44:00 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 3:

You should clip this and post it, and maybe he'll like it.

00:44:03 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 4:

Can we make this? Yeah. Can we do, like, we are, you know, KP is the most awesome social media person ever. KP, can you do lessons in social media for people? My buddy Al Zara, I saw Al the other day, okay? Al Zara owns Geek Squad, which is a very incredible company. If you're looking for anybody for your business to run any of your, you know, make a website for you, to do your social media, to come up with a marketing plan, these guys are freaking awesome. Basically, it's everybody who uses the work here. Well, did I hit the ding?

00:44:36 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, give me a little ding.

00:44:37 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 4:

Ding, I'm sorry. But Al Zara needs to tell this guy to stop liking his own stuff.

00:44:44 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. I'd be lying if I sat here and didn't say that I've done it before. Oh, how dare you? Listen, I've posted, I don't know which picture it was or if there was a caption. It's just in. It was me. I've posted some fire content before and just...

00:45:00 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 6:

rolling through my line. I was like, Kev knows. Kev doesn't know. I've done it. I've done it. If you have to hype yourself up, then I feel like it's not that hype. But look, it's not about me hyping myself up. If I see something that I like, I just like it. Just so you know. It just happened to come from me. Every time you look in the mirror, you're like, like. So you've never walked by the mirror and said,

00:45:22 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to look good.

00:45:24 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not.

00:45:24 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 4:

I hate her. And you know how embarrassing when somebody else catches you checking yourself out. That's basically what it looks like on social media. It's almost like the people who use themselves as their own phone wallpaper. Yeah, you can't do it. You can't do it.

00:45:40 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 6:

Let's open it up to all those things here. You cannot do that. By the way, Kev, you know this firsthand because you are the announcer of announcers. You do the in-stadium announcing for the Detroit Pistons as well as Michigan State football and basketball. You can't say make some noise and then and start screaming into the microphone.

00:46:01 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 5:

But we all... Or you make some noise!

00:46:04 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 6:

Ladies and gentlemen... You can't say, ladies and gentlemen, now coming to the stage. Yeah! Yeah, that can't happen. So we don't all hype ourselves up?

00:46:15 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I feel like we all did this on Friday night at the Daddy-Daughter Dance, and maybe it's just involuntary, I don't know. But I think it was either Mojo or Boji, who was DJing, said, give it up for the Mojo in the morning show, and we all were walking on stage. We all just clapped. It is weird.

00:46:34 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 6:

Every sports game, every athlete, you have to pump yourself up. It's how you get ready for the game. Yeah, but Michael Jordan didn't say, now coming out at six foot seven. Michael Jordan from North Carolina. What's going on, Jody? What's happening?

00:46:50 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay, my mother's the worst. She lives in Kentucky. I'm here in Ohio. and she not only likes her own stuff but she clicks on everything and she's calling me all the time saying jody sue i think i'm hacked again all the time well that's serves her right getting hacked she's not allowed to do that she's gonna be 73 years old in a couple days and she clicks

00:47:16 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 6:

on everything see kevin this is who does stuff like this it's the old people that you know get themselves caught in the little scams she probably has donated money to some some person in another country that was you know selling crypto what's up rachel

00:47:29 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 2:

hey good morning everybody good morning rachel this is hilarious so i'm calling about people liking their own posts i have an older brother who likes loves laughs at his own posts all the time me and my cousin we make a joke about it just recently he posted a picture of himself He changed his profile picture He loved the picture And then commented on it, period

00:47:55 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 6:

What's his name? Let's shout him out right now

00:48:01 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

His name is Deshaun Thomas On Facebook Don't be Like, I don't care I'm texting him now Like, I'm putting you on blast on 95.5 Period

00:48:14 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 6:

Like, stop doing it We should all, by the way Become friends with Deshaun Thomas And then we should go to his thing And start liking what he likes

00:48:23 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 2:

If you do Because he never gets like More than 10 likes on any pop So he just likes and loves his own stuff And it is hilarious Hold on

00:48:35 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 6:

I'm looking him up right now Is it Dush

00:48:37 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah spell it out D-E Capital S-H-A-W-N For a guy that only gets 10 likes We need to blow it up.

00:48:50 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, hold on. Hold on. I'm looking at him right now. Deshaun Thomas lives in Detroit. Is his profile like, what is this thing? Is it a look at...

00:49:00 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 2:

He's throwing up peace signs. He probably got on like a bunch of jewelry, dark skin, ball head. He probably got like a coot on or something.

00:49:09 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 6:

All right. I'm finding him right now. We're giving him some love right now for you, okay?

00:49:14 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Thank you. I love you guys. We love you too. We love you, man.

00:49:18 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 6:

Take care of yourself Oh my god, that's great Let's see how many he gets today What's happening, Kelly? Hi

00:49:26 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 3:

Hi

00:49:27 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 4:

My boyfriend will be scrolling through Facebook And then he'll make a comment to me And he'll be like, did you see that really funny post? And then It'll be his own post And he's like, did you see how many likes and laughs I got on it? I'm like, no Quit having a competition with yourself

00:49:46 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 6:

You know what, though? Hey, what does he do for a living? Because we might have a job for him someday. There might be like an internship or something here at the radio station.

00:49:55 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 5:

He is very comical. Don't get me wrong.

00:49:58 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. You're sad.

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 1:

I just don't count as your comedy if you're laughing at your own stuff. Okay, that's another one I was going to bring up, too.

00:50:06 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 3:

I do that. I laugh at my own jokes, which I realize is kind of the same thing now. Like, you probably shouldn't laugh at your own joke. It's not funny, then. Do you laugh at your own jokes because you genuinely make yourself laugh or because you're hoping others will laugh along with you? A little column A, a little column B. All right, see, then that's okay.

00:50:24 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:50:27 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon's going to give us the Dirty on the 30 right now. And we will see what is trending. Shannon, what are you starting off with this morning?

00:50:34 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, I know this is a thing that when loved ones pass away and are cremated, they're very specific in terms of what they want you to do with their ashes. Well, Pink was performing at Hyde Park in London this week when a fan tossed a baggie apparently containing her mom's ashes onto the stage at Pink's feet. And Pink was very, very flustered by this. You can hear her say, I don't know how I feel about this. She then takes the baggie and places it near a speaker on the stage. But that moment going viral right now, you can see it on the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com. Jennifer Lawrence is clearing the air over the rumor that she was the reason for the demise of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, their relationship.

00:51:31 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? I never knew that that was a rumor.

00:51:33 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 2:

So, me neither. She was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. And she totally denied ever having any sort of affair with her Hunger Games co-star. So when given the opportunity to plead the fifth on speculation that Liam cheated on Miley with her, Jennifer said, not true, total rumor. However, she did say that she and Liam did kiss one time off screen, but it was years after Miley and Liam had actually called it quits. Remember we talked about how in flowers she was wearing the same dress that Jennifer Lawrence wore? Oh, yes. I do remember that. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Lindsay Lohan's first baby is almost here, and she is having a baby boy. She and her husband, Bader Shamus, are expecting the baby boy any day now, actually. Lindsay's mom, Dina, will be by her side in Dubai, where Lindsay lives for the birth. Some of Lindsay's siblings will also be overseas around the same time to meet their new nephew. If you've seen the pictures of this, it is incredibly cool. Fans can officially rent the Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse on Airbnb and be hosted by Barbie's right-hand man, Ken. So, July 17th, everybody in Barbie land can request to book Ken's room in Barbie's Dreamhouse on Airbnb. I think it's like some sort of random drawing type of deal. But winners will stay at the Hot Pink Mansion in Malibu, free of charge, to indulge in all of the Kennergy the Beatome has to offer. Newly renovated, by the way. So if you saw the Barbie Dreamhouse like a couple of years ago, it's like had a glow up. It is very, very Barbie now. But guests will indulge in the opportunity to check out Ken's wardrobe, do some dancing on the outdoor disco floor, and engage in a beach-off by the Infinity Pool. So Airbnb.com if you want to check that out. And a little preview for you. Post Malone's new album, Austin, going to drop on July 28th. will feature 17 songs. And on social media yesterday, he shared a little clip of one of them. This is called Something Real.

00:53:43 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 4:

You know, it's amazing.

00:53:48 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Everything he puts out. I already love it. I love it. I already love it. That's good.

00:53:54 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 2:

00:54:18 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 3:

the morning ashley who do you think your husband's cheating with uh his co-worker

00:54:24 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

really why why do you have that feeling well they work together they um and he works with a lot of young attractive people and uh and he constantly has pictures of the two of them together like there's like 10 people on the softball team and for some reason he always has pictures of just

00:54:47 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 3:

the two of them and he's posting this on social media for everybody to see or well i

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

I, well, okay, so I made a Finster account. I made a fake account, and I added.

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 2:

her on there just because I was getting uncomfortable and then I see like majority of the pictures that she posts are of them too.

00:55:10 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 4:

So you must have had suspicion that these guys were doing something well before I'm assuming this softball team.

00:55:21 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:55:21 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 4:

How long have you been suspecting that they were close with each other?

00:55:28 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, I I had a baby nine months ago, and then within that time, he's just been coming home late, and just, it's been very strange, and I don't know, he mentioned her once, but it was not anything, but for some reason I had a feeling, and I just went into this whole dig, and I just created this sister account, and just added her, and just wanted to see what's going on in there. And I still have this feeling like something's going on. I mean, there's like 10 people on this co-ed softball team. You know why majority of the pictures are just with them too.

00:56:09 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 4:

And she's posting all these pictures of the two of them.

00:56:12 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That would freak me out too, for sure.

00:56:15 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 4:

But if she's posting them, then she's got to have coworkers that also are seeing them too. And I would think that they're not trying to hide anything.

00:56:23 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 1:

Well.

00:56:24 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 4:

Or she's at least not trying to hide anything. Have you ever asked him about her?

00:56:30 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:56:31 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 4:

What does he say?

00:56:33 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 2:

She just acts like there's nothing going on.

00:56:36 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay, but you think that there is. We're going to find out what's going on. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We are hoping that the roses go to Ashley. If you can mute your phone, that would help us out a lot. And don't jump on until you, you know, have us have a say, say, hey, you know, Ashley, because I don't want him to be suspicious of what's going on here. Okay.

00:57:04 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:57:05 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 4:

All right. Mute your phone.

00:57:18 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hi, is this Nick?

00:57:22 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is.

00:57:24 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Nick. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from a new internet floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm calling for an offer for some totally free flowers, so don't hang up on me. I just need you to answer two quick survey questions about your floral buying habits, and if you have about 30 seconds to do that, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses. You could ship anywhere in the country to anybody. Not going to cost you anything. Not going to ask you for credit card info or anything like that. Are you interested?

00:57:52 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah, I mean, as long as you don't get any credit card information, I'm cool with it.

00:57:56 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Nick?

00:58:00 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:58:01 - 00:58:02 | Speaker 1:

Did you say yes or no? I'm sorry.

00:58:03 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 3:

No, I did not.

00:58:04 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 1:

No. Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:58:10 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Maybe.

00:58:12 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, rosesbloom.com, going to provide you with one dozen free roses. and I need to first get some info about who these are going to, so we'll start with a first and a last name.

00:58:26 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

So how do you actually send these things?

00:58:29 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean by that?

00:58:31 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 3:

Like, it's like anonymously? You send them to anybody?

00:58:36 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're going to send them to whomever you want to send them to, and they just get sent just like any other florist.

00:58:43 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but like the return address would be like the florist, right?

00:58:46 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 1:

uh yeah no return address or anything and actually the person the person who receives them we do something a little different the person who received receives them is going to get a digital voice card from you and not an actual paper card oh okay okay so only only you and that person would know who sent the flowers oh sweet okay so first and the last name of who

00:59:11 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 3:

you want these to go to um i want to send them to sarah okay and you happen to have sarah's phone number on you yeah one second two four eight

00:59:31 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

awesome and i'm gonna start an account for you just hopefully you'll order flowers from us in the future that's the purpose of this whole promotion and so i'm gonna put sarah on your account and I just need to know her relationship to you friend okay

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 2:

and then let's go ahead and record that digital voice card. So I'm going to count you down, and you just say whatever you want to Sarah. All right?

01:00:11 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Sarah.

01:00:12 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wait. You've got to wait for me to count you down.

01:00:14 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sorry. It's okay.

01:00:15 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. Here we go. Three, two, one.

01:00:20 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 3:

Hey, these are for my favorite person under 5'2".

01:00:23 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Okay. And Nick, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? I think you're supposed to tell me that before we start recording. Well, I'm telling you now. I'm sorry. Is that okay? Whatever. Okay.

01:00:42 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 1:

Is that a yes? Yeah. Okay. Nick, we just have to make sure we get a full yes from you if that's okay are you okay with uh with that yes okay I'm gonna jump on to finish everything and just tell you a couple last minute things we will send those flowers off to Sarah so she will get that and she'll get the digital voice card but before I do that I need to let you know one last thing Nick while we've been talking to you and you have been sending the flowers to Sarah your wife Ashley has been listening in and just heard every word that you just said

01:01:22 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 4:

I can't I don't even I have no words for you right now I have no words

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 1:

Nick this is

01:01:33 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 4:

and I asked you if she was if something was going on there

01:01:38 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 1:

Sarah let me just tell them Nick this is the Mojo in the Morning Show and we were doing the War of the Roses and Sarah wanted to know where you were going to send a dozen free roses and just heard you send the flowers to another girl.

01:01:59 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't really know what to say. You don't know what to say? There's nothing going on.

01:02:06 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 3:

There's nothing going on between us.

01:02:08 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 4:

Really? So why are you sending flowers to her? You're not sending flowers to your wife. you're not because my wife

01:02:16 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 3:

doesn't like flowers and she's just my friend she's somebody I work with

01:02:21 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 1:

Ashley how long have you been suspicious that something was going on between Nick and this girl

01:02:27 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

since we had for nine months nine months now and I asked you about it and I had a feeling about it and now I feel like now it's confirmed

01:02:41 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 3:

now i i i think you're really reading way too into this i mean i understand you're freaked out and i think you've taken this way too far but it is really we're just friends and i think you're

01:02:54 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 4:

just so the past nine months at random you were coming home late just because just because right

01:03:01 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 3:

because i work just like to pay for our house oh okay Mm-hmm.

01:03:09 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 4:

But you work with for so many, and now it's, like, since we had the baby, like, that's changed after that, right? Yeah, it changed, because guess what? Babies cost money. Okay. All right. But before that, the whole year before that, we were talking about that, and we were saving up. That was completely different, and now out of nowhere, after I had the baby, you just started acting different. You're not... You're not... I don't even want to get into it.

01:03:36 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 3:

Are you sure that I'm acting different? Don't you think it's more logical that maybe you're acting different since you just had a baby?

01:03:41 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

Whoa, whoa. That is like shots fired right there.

01:03:46 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 4:

What the f***? Are you f***ing serious right now?

01:03:50 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious right now?

01:03:51 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Because I had the baby, I'm acting different? Really?

01:03:54 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 1:

Why don't I do this? Why don't I put you guys on a separate line away from us and we'll let you talk and just understand that...

01:04:03 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 3:

I f***ing think you've done enough. Really, I think I could just talk to my wife now.

01:04:07 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 4:

No, he has done enough. He's done enough for me to see the truth.

01:04:11 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to put you guys on hold so you guys can talk to each other. Hang on one second.

01:04:15 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo. Mojo in the morning. Call the show now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

01:04:35 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 1:

After we made the call, I had to apologize to Ashley because when I was trying to explain to Nick, who was on the call, I ended up calling her and referring to her by the girl that Nick works with. And she was very cool about it, so I appreciate her for... being cool about that. She said she couldn't even hear me say it because she was so hot about what's going on. Mojo in the Morning show, War of the Roses, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. The phone lines are full and they're a few open lines, but they're getting full right now. A couple of quick thoughts on this one. Any of listeners that have ever suspected somebody of cheating on them, Did you ever do what Ashley did? And that is, did you go get a little fake social media, a little fake Instagram, a Finsta, and then start trolling the person that you think? Or maybe even trolling your own? Call us up and tell us if that ever has worked, because it worked right away. I mean, think about this. He says there's nothing going on. Why is this girl constantly posting just stuff with him? Which is very weird

01:06:00 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 4:

And if he had not sent the flowers to her You could argue that maybe this girl's got You know, some screw loose And is obsessed with him But the fact that he, you know, reciprocated In sending the flowers is very telltale to me

01:06:18 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 2:

And even his little voice note Sounded like it was

01:06:21 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it was an inside joke

01:06:22 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he got a creepy voice too with it

01:06:25 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 4:

Also, not a funny joke

01:06:26 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Andy?

01:06:30 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how you doing?

01:06:31 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 1:

Good. War of the Roses comments here. What did you think?

01:06:34 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 6:

Long time. Long time listener. First time caller. This guy is a freaking moron. Yeah. Yeah. Obviously, he should have said it to his woman. He's obviously cheating on her with this girl from work.

01:06:52 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The interesting part of cheating with a co-worker is now you've just ruined your home life and your work life.

01:07:01 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and they have a new baby. It's just ridiculous.

01:07:05 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 1:

I know. It's horrible.

01:07:06 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you have to quit your job at that point once you get caught up in something like that?

01:07:09 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 1:

It depends. Some companies will actually make you quit your job if they find out that that's going on.

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Or they'll fire one or the other.

01:07:15 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

By the way, a sad stat that I saw, there was something on Reddit that I read about a month or so ago, and it was a huge percentage. It was like 70%. You have like a 70% chance after having a baby of somebody being unfaithful. And believe it or not, the craziest part that I thought was on that thing was that it was like 60% of the men cheated, but there was a good amount of the women who just had a baby that cheated after having a baby. Chris, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Where are the roses?

01:07:48 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. Coming from somebody that was kind of in the same position as Nick a couple of years ago when my daughter was born. You know, it doesn't come off as like the brightest thing to do when you look back on it. You know what I mean? I was definitely wrong, and I was still supporting him as well.

01:08:05 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Chris, I like that you're being very honest with us, but tell us what you're being honest about.

01:08:10 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 7:

So my girlfriend, she had a baby a few years ago. we had a baby and i was working at a you know like a like a warehouse and you know i was messing around one of the girls in there well you know i was on a clock then i go home you know support my girlfriend through whatever she needs to support with at home but you know eventually to you know they come to a head and my girlfriend called me out on it and instead of backpedaling and saying she was wrong you know because she just had a baby i owned up to him and said i was wrong and And eventually I left that job, not because of this situation, but for something completely different. But eventually I left that job, and me and her have been stronger ever since. We've been together for seven years now, getting married.

01:08:51 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

Why were you cheating with this girl?

01:08:54 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 7:

It was fun, honestly. She was cute. You know, she had, like, a couple of doors fighting around back there. She was cute, and it was fun. You know, it wasn't nothing against my girlfriend at the time. It was just something fun. You know, something else to do at work.

01:09:10 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 1:

The guy's honest. I kind of like you just for being honest about everything. I mean, I'm glad that you guys worked through this and that she's okay with it.

01:09:18 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 2:

It still makes me a little nervous the way he talks about it, though. Like, he almost still romanticizes it a little bit.

01:09:23 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a little casual.

01:09:25 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Give him the benefit of the doubt.

01:09:27 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm with you, but... What's up? What's going on, Emily?

01:09:33 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I wanted to call in and put in my two cents. My ex had cheated on me with a co-worker, and he ended up getting fired for gross sexual misconduct in the workplace. Wow. Did she get fired or just him? Just him. She went to the boss, and he was her supervisor. So I think that's kind of where that got murky and everything, and he got let go for it. But some people don't. You know, it all depends on if the bosses find out or not, I think.

01:10:00 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call A lot of companies, corporate companies They have to be careful of this Especially if somebody is in a position of power Superiority, yeah What's up, PK?

01:10:12 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 1:

Hey, man, so I had a comment on what that guy said He said, don't you think it's because you're acting different Because of the pregnancy? That is so wrong

01:10:22 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 2:

I about flew off my chair

01:10:24 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes Shannon's had a couple of moments this morning Where I was like, woo

01:10:28 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, I'm about to start my period I am fired up I am emotional and I am irrational And I am My temper is raging

01:10:37 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 3:

There were a couple of moments this morning

01:10:38 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 1:

I feel so bad for her

01:10:40 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 3:

By the way Just to go on record with this Ashley is a very sweet person She's a big time listener of the show And which scared us When we first were doing this Because we didn't know if It would work because a lot of times wore the roses if you're a fan your spouse is maybe a fan or at least knows uh and we've been trying to help her through this what's up hayley you want to say something hi i just wanted to say

01:11:07 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 5:

that he straight up gaslit you um he talks about how it was all your fault and i'm sorry but he also helped contribute to putting that baby in you so i just feel like he definitely gaslit

01:11:22 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 3:

you and i'm sorry you have to go that way yeah um are you saying he gaslit ashley not he'd guess let me yeah okay unless there's a baby in you because i well no but i thought he was kind of i listen to how he was with me at the end of this why don't i put you guys on a separate line away from us and we'll let you talk and just understand that i think you've done it up yes i mean listen to that. He gaslit me too, Haley.

01:11:52 - 01:11:52 | Unknown:

God.

01:11:54 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 5:

Proper response.

01:11:55 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 4:

How dare you. How dare you. How's it make you feel, Mojo?

01:11:59 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know if I can tell because Haley might tell me not to.

01:12:05 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 4:

01:12:38 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

01:12:40 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 5:

let's go It's show time.

01:12:47 - 01:13:18 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. It is the Mojo of the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. Coming up this hour on the show, Ed Sheeran tickets. Oh, you know what? Let me do this, too. Morgan Wallen tickets. I'm going to tell you about that. Give me a Morgan Wallen song. What do I got here? Whiskey glasses. And the whiskey glasses. I like that song. You don't know that one. No. I don't know.

01:13:18 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 2:

You are obsessed with brackets.

01:13:20 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 3:

I only, I only, by the way, I do find that my son Joe called me over the weekend. Did I tell you this yesterday? How about you? No. Talk to him. He said to me that you posted something on your story about Morgan Wallen.

01:13:36 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:13:36 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 3:

And he posted a.

01:13:39 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 4:

I didn't like it, by the way, but go ahead.

01:13:42 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 3:

No, you're referring back to it. that one sometimes you have to be very careful when you do that you do that refer back no but people don't understand what that means then they're like why did you post it if you didn't like it you know i mean but real quick uh joe said uh is kevin really a morgan wallen fan or is he just trolling uh ashley nix or other people that that don't like morgan wallen and i said what do you mean he goes ashley nix on their show on the joe show ashley nix it hates morgan wallen and she doesn't like the idea that morgan wallen you know is is morgan wallen you know because he had the whole thing where he said the n-word well that makes sense and uh and so uh so ashley so i said no i i truly genuinely think that kev likes morgan wallen's song uh and he only likes last night that's the song right that you like and broadway girls yeah so wait kev you said you didn't know that story no no what's the story he he had a there was an uh an incident where he was caught on tape saying the n-word he was hanging out with his buddies and uh yeah it got uh it got released and then his friend whose black friend that was there said that he didn't take offense to it or whatever but it got out there and then he ended up having he kind of got pulled off of all the stations, didn't he?

01:15:01 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 6:

For like a year.

01:15:02 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 3:

All the country stations and stuff. Then I think, I don't know what he did. I don't know if the record label or...

01:15:10 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 2:

He didn't do anything. He didn't do anything and they put it back on the air. I think he did do some classes. I do think, I don't, I can't confirm that. You took a class at a community college? No, like the NAACP, like he sat down with them and educated himself. Yes, I mean, that's what it was.

01:15:26 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm more concerned with the amount of people who say it that's not on camera. But I'm not giving him a pass We're not going to act like people just out here not saying it

01:15:33 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 2:

He didn't know he was on camera It was the real him

01:15:37 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 3:

I'll have to do my research Well here's the thing you do like that song though You do like We got tickets by the way we're giving away tickets I wouldn't go to the concert But would you not go to the concert just because You don't know enough of the songs

01:15:51 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 4:

I would rather someone who enjoys his music More than the two songs that I know Actually go and enjoy it

01:15:56 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 1:

I will say so when Zach Brown Band was here Was it last summer, last fall, whatever I only knew like three songs I had the best time at that show Just because the crowd, the vibe The music was so good I feel like Morgan Wallen would be the same way for you

01:16:10 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know

01:16:11 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 4:

I'll be interested

01:16:13 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 3:

To see how many more songs I like of his Because I do like a couple of his songs I don't know what it is about it But hold on a second There's a dance version A dance version

01:16:26 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 1:

Dude, if you were out having some drinks I would like it then

01:16:32 - 01:16:36 | Speaker 6:

But this sounds like Morgan Walmart is singing this song

01:16:36 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 5:

Remix!

01:16:50 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 6:

This is a club country remix that I found that I love

01:16:54 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

Of what? Of this?

01:16:55 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 6:

We have just all country songs mashed together, and it's so good.

01:16:59 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Really? All right, so let me go to the – my ADD just went off, because for some reason I'm like – Yeah, Joe called me up, and he thought it was great. But I'm sorry. We're giving away tickets. So here's how you win the tickets. Morgan Walmart is one contest. Friday morning, we're going to have a Morgan Walmart pageant of people who look like Morgan Wallen. We're calling them Morgan Walmart, and somebody's going to win tickets to Friday's show. So that's Friday morning. And how do people enter into this contest? How do they tell us that they want to be in this contest?

01:17:29 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 6:

They can send us a picture on Instagram at Mojo in the Morning or at channel 955. They can do it in any way. So Facebook, too, if you follow us there, just send it to us.

01:17:37 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

A couple people, did you see some of the DMs that have already come in?

01:17:40 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I haven't.

01:17:40 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's a couple people that have sent some in already. So that is for this Friday morning. You're going to have to be available for this to win tickets. Then Thursday morning We have a contest where all morning long We're giving away tickets to Thursday night show Now I do want to tell you That you're going to have to listen Starting early Starting at like 6 o'clock in the morning To us Or 6.10 whenever it is that we officially sign on But all Thursday morning We're going to have tickets For the Thursday night show

01:18:12 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 1:

And anybody can win these You don't have to look like Morgan Wallen

01:18:16 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 3:

And I think, is Morgan Wallen tonight at Van Andel? Or is that tomorrow night at Van Andel? When is that?

01:18:21 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

It's either tonight or tomorrow. I think it's tonight.

01:18:24 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we don't have tickets to that one because that one, man. Well, I think it's also that Van Andel is definitely a much more intimate setting for Morgan Wallen compared to how big Ford Field is going to be. So the opportunity for tickets. But let's go back to the Morgan Wallen. Hold on a second here. Let's go back to the dance version of that song.

01:18:46 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 5:

Let the liquor talk I can't remember everything we said But we said it all You told me that you wish I was somebody You never met But baby, baby Something's

01:18:56 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so Bainando's only like 12,000 Compared to Forthfear Which is like

01:19:00 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 5:

You

01:19:16 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

I like it.

01:19:19 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 5:

I like it, too.

01:19:21 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Somebody just texted Mojo that dance version is un-American. It kind of is. All right, before we get to our topics for the second half of the show, can I give a quick thank you to somebody? Can I thank the fact that WDIV promoted the show for the last four days? nonstop on one of their busiest nights of the year and they did the they ran the interview that i did with uh christy mcdonald the uh incredible friend of of mine and chelsea's and the mojo in the morning show uh

01:20:00 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 1:

last night on their newscast so for toledo and grand rapids wdiv is local four it's the nbc affiliate it's actually a pretty powerful television station nationwide but they do the fireworks and they broadcast the fireworks in downtown detroit and they get a pretty good amount of people that for some reason i still don't understand it watch fireworks on television i don't i never can understand why somebody is watching fireworks on television but i found myself watching fireworks on television yesterday but they ran they promoted this uh whole big thing of um this big moment with mojo and uh very personal moment we talked because christy does this uh long form interview that they run on i think it's wdiv plus or something like that or local four plus or something something that they have uh they'll promote it in this and They ran this really nice It was a nice piece But I'm really bummed Because they didn't run the part where I cried I haven't watched it

01:21:03 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 3:

You sent us the link I cannot wait to watch it

01:21:06 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 2:

You were just like tearing up hardcore And I was like I know that face The tears are about to come And then it just like cut to another part

01:21:15 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

It's what we've come to know From the long running Mojo in the Morning show

01:21:19 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 2:

And that audience connection Sometimes it can come with a cost. Chrissy McDonald talks with Mojo about how to balance being real without jeopardizing his family or his marriage.

01:21:34 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 1:

Music in the intro was like, honestly, it's amazing. My philosophy has always been from the get-go. Make them laugh, make them cry, or poke them in the eye. We have to make a listener feel something. And if we aren't entertaining in the first couple of minutes of bringing it up, we've got to move on to something else. this thing right here has changed the game for everybody absolutely and one of the things that i've realized by the way i gotta do this as a bit because in radio you can't see it you know this thing right here yeah what was i holding i mean that would have been kind of fun see which my that's my screen skater that's my wife on the screenscapes ever again. But this has made it that you don't need to sit in your car to listen to a radio show anymore. If we aren't entertaining in the first couple of minutes of bringing it up,

01:22:33 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 3:

we got to move on to something else. Yeah. Entertaining, but also real. And that's what I think is so interesting about you. And I've listened to you for the entire time that you've been on here in Detroit. I have filled in on the show. Exactly. I've filled in on the show. And I always think it's amazing how much of your personal life that you bring in that ends up being entertainment. And I was wondering about how that has evolved. We're all relatable people.

01:22:58 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 1:

We all have our, our quirks. We all have our pains. We all have our messy. Let's be honest. And honestly, if my philosophy has been that I will try to be as personal with the listeners as possible in hopes that they'll be personal back. And the one thing that I've learned over the years is there's always a time and place for when you talk about it. There sometimes is not the greatest idea to bring up, you know, the night before that you and your wife were in a screaming match. And there's not the time to sit there in the midst of the storm where, you know, my wife and I've gone through counseling so many times. I won't get into stuff on the air while I'm in the middle of it because I don't want this radio show to be the reason why I, you know, fail at my marriage or my wife and I decide that we're going to go our separate ways. And we've almost had a couple of moments where we have went our separate ways. And when I brought that up on the air and shared it, it's been the thing that I think grabs the listeners the most because they're struggling too. And if it at all helps them get through it, or maybe helps them understand why they didn't get through it. God, that's raw. It's, it's tough. I will say this. She's extremely understanding about what I talk about. And there are times where I've learned as I've gotten older, how dumb I was when I was younger to risk, you know, confidentiality of my family by bringing it up on the

01:24:29 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 3:

radio. It's a really, really fine line because you have this audience and you come. And I think

01:24:35 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 1:

people can smell when you are not being authentic? One of the things as the time has gone by being on the air, that is the greatest compliment that people can ever give is I listened to you guys because I knew it would make me feel better. I knew it would make me, you know, be comforted. I knew I would get the, you know, you guys talking about it. The fact that people know that we'll talk about things like that, that's honestly the greatest pride that I've had in all the years of doing this.

01:25:07 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 3:

When we look forward into how we're consuming media, how we're listening to radio, what do you think's in store for the next five years when you think about it? Because you were nominated to be in the Radio Hall of Fame.

01:25:20 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I didn't win. I might win this year. Who knows? I want to do it for as long as I possibly can because I have zero hobbies. I'm a horrible golfer. And I will end up divorced if I stay home because my wife will be out of my space. I take a week's vacation and she's like, don't you have like people you can go hang out with? You know, so. Yeah, that was it.

01:25:42 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate Mojo being real with us. He also talks about his biggest regret, his proudest moment. And that's what brought him to tears during our interview. So our full conversation is streaming right now on Local 4 Plus along with all of my conversations. Just download it on your TV. You find Netflix and Hulu, Local 4 Plus, and you can watch all those conversations. The show was really great.

01:26:01 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's so interesting to hear. And all the time, as listeners, you'll hear people say, can't believe they actually talked about that on the air. So you know that's got to take a toll. That's a tough balance in life.

01:26:12 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 3:

And he talked about his wife being very patient. Yeah. Very understanding.

01:26:16 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 1:

Especially when I hit on Rhonda Walker on the ring.

01:26:19 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate him being so open, like you said. I mean, he's just been a part of all of us for the last few decades. 23 years. So, yeah, the connection's pretty big here in Detroit.

01:26:27 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 1:

WDIV. That was, by the way.

01:26:29 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 3:

I love her.

01:26:30 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 1:

Last night.

01:26:32 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 4:

I can't remember everything we said, but we said.

01:26:35 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 1:

No, they were great. That was cool. By the way, if you have.

01:26:37 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 4:

She's a great interviewer, too.

01:26:38 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

If you never have. She really is. First off, she and her husband were media giants in town here. Her husband being one of the very best in sports talk radio. Jamie Samuelson. and she when she was at Channel 7 and then she went to PBS and started doing a lot of stuff at PBS but they are she's one of the best moms in the world because she's she's doing it now by herself

01:27:02 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 4:

that's the best compliment that you give by the way

01:27:06 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 1:

she's an amazing woman but thank you for them for doing that interview and if you go watch the longer form which is on YouTube or that local 4 plus or whatever they're talking about they'll see exactly what she was talking about I started talking about my kids and it got pretty emotional. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show and it's caused a problem in Shannon's house. We talk about being personal. This is about as personal as you can get on our radio show. Well, yes. You talking about your long armpit hair. There's just one.

01:27:44 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 4:

There's just one. So I've had laser hair removal so I really don't have armpit hair nor do I ever shave my armpits. Best thing ever, ever, ever, by the way. Okay. So I never really like check to make sure that everything's good. Every once in a while, you know, I gotta, I gotta tend to that area. Why? Why? Ladies, please call if you have a partner that always seems to point out something on your body that is quote unquote out of the ordinary. Now, my sweet fiance Wes and i were driving somewhere the other day and he just got one of those big ram trucks okay so i had my left arm propped up on the center console in his truck and i was wearing like a tank top dress

01:28:27 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 1:

and so we're which by the way is the center console it's huge and i'm five feet tall you you don't even see you in that thing actually you don't even see wes because he's also not

01:28:38 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 4:

yeah he's not the tallest man does he sit on phone books on that he does not no okay no he's good he's good but he kept staring at my armpit as he was talking to me and smirking and I just knew something was going on in his head that I hate it so finally I said what what are you why why do you have that look on your face and he said you have a really really long armpit hair that I can't stop staring at great okay so now I'm self-conscious because there's nothing I can do about it at that point and then the whole night he would do things like ouch pretend he got poked in the eye and he would say oh your armpit hair just poked me in the eye or and this is still going on you know about my bad internet and my house and how bad i hate it because the tv is not working because the internet's so bad so he'll just turn to me totally straight faced and say hey can you adjust that armpit hair a little bit so we can get some reception on the tv did you not punch him in the throat that's like the most justified throat punching i've ever heard in my life why you got to point it out how long how long did you have this thing uh this armpit hair um like a day and a half and then she went that that didn't make you want to go home and immediately pluck it or tweeze it that night and then i kind of forgot about it the next day okay until the more jokes were made did you name I'm sorry. Shut up, Kev. Your armpit here cut my mic off. I'm sorry.

01:30:07 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, if I was there, I'd pull his cord out.

01:30:11 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 5:

See what I mean? Did he name it? Why? Did he name it? No. You are a dick. That's your first dick.

01:30:19 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

By the way, can I say something about Kevin? What? Kevin would never do this to his girl because she would cut him. Oh, no. Yes, I would.

01:30:29 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 4:

I know, she'd beat your ass. Did he take a picture of it? That's what I would do.

01:30:33 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 5:

No, but it's like with, I feel like with girls, like if he had a booger in his nose, I wouldn't make this huge deal out of it. I would just be like, I would get it and it would be done.

01:30:42 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 4:

That's different than an armpit here and it's like dangling out of your armpit and just saying hello and just, you know.

01:30:48 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Joe? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

01:30:50 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Joe. Hi, it's Joe.

01:30:52 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Joe. Joe, this is the Mo of the Joe. What's going on?

01:30:55 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, sorry, Kevin. And first of all, I just jumped in hearing you talk about armpit hair. And I called because apparently most husbands don't know that women have a little bit of facial hair. We're not growing deards. But, like, get over it. Like, it's real. It happens. And, like, you guys are allowed to have, like, back hair and, like, random. Yes. Yes. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. We're going to do it. Like, it's just, it's just, it's awful. You're animals. And, like, we can't.

01:31:24 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 4:

Savage.

01:31:24 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 1:

And, like, you're lucky. Like, you are lucky.

01:31:28 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 4:

Joe, are you a hairy woman?

01:31:31 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 1:

No, no, but I am Sicilian, honey, so drink it up, okay?

01:31:36 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, don't ever fight with a Sicilian. You will lose. Thank you for the call. What's up, Sydney?

01:31:43 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Hi. Sydney.

01:31:47 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 3:

I thought we lost her. Sydney? She's got a hairy connection. Sydney, what on you is now interfering with? The connection that we have there.

01:32:00 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 2:

I had a chest hair one time, and my boyfriend went to brush it off, and it was like a cat hair, and he pulled it. And he was like, it's attached to you. Heaven forbid. I was like, don't touch me, and I cried for like three minutes.

01:32:18 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. The worst are when they're like curly. Have you ever seen those? Your whole head is full of curly hair. I'm talking about women. When you see it, like, on their, like, she's talking on their chest. Oh, my God.

01:32:31 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, your face. You know what? Oh, my God, your face.

01:32:38 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call.

01:32:40 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to have a 40-year-old virgin moment where you just put the wax on and rip it off.

01:32:44 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 1:

My hair.

01:32:47 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 5:

Kelly Clarkson!

01:32:48 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 3:

How did you get rid of that? How did you eventually get rid of it, Shannon?

01:32:52 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 5:

I shaved it.

01:32:53 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 3:

You did? Okay. What's up, Sue?

01:32:56 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Years ago, my fiance, and we are still together to this day, he told me when we were on the boat, he said, if the engines fail, just stick your arms out, and because I had a little flubber, we can use them as sails.

01:33:12 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 5:

Did you remember him? Oh, my God. I would have pushed him right off that damn boat.

01:33:17 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 6:

I know. I don't like it. Oh, yeah. That is bad.

01:33:22 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 3:

Listen, there are divorce attorneys calling us up right now and saying that they will represent all of the women whose guys do this stuff to them. This, by the way, is something that when you see divorces and they always, what do they say?

01:33:42 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 5:

They say irreconcilable differences.

01:33:46 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Can you imagine if they put long armpit hair? All right. It is the mojo in the morning show. We've got the Dirty coming up here in just a little bit. Also, the War of the Roses this morning and your chance to get to voice whether or not somebody is an a-hole. And the person that is on Am I the A-hole is somebody that our listeners might recognize. All right. So Am I the A-hole coming up this morning before the end of the hour. Stick around for that. Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Kev, this is one of those moments that, you know, we talk about, and you just heard the news story that we just played just a little bit ago with Channel 4 about talking about your life and reality and stuff. You are, like, fast getting right into it here on our show and quickly talking about your personal life. And you've kind of learned from what we've done in radio and probably have never experienced it like this. that when you experience a real moment, the next morning to be able to talk about it on the air is either one of two things. It's either going to be therapeutic for you or it's going to cause maybe some stuff.

01:34:54 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 4:

It's either therapeutic or a death sentence. Either way you look at it.

01:34:58 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 3:

Yesterday you saw somebody that you... haven't seen in a very very long time yeah well not not super long but i i guess comfortably we can say months and uh i guess the beautiful part about yesterday as i mentioned on yesterday's show was that it was my sister's birthday so love my sister super super excited to go see my sister and we went over my mom's house so cherelle came my son came melinda came it's kept it small

01:35:20 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 2:

cherelle is your uh your girlfriend right to be right to be say that korean the lovely sj

01:35:26 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

baby dropping this i say like an album baby dropping this november but yeah anyway so my dad comes over right and uh for the new listeners since i'm new on the show i guess i'm the new guy not the listeners but my dad and i don't have the best relationship um just quick recap he was incarcerated when i was in the third grade to the eighth grade and uh then when i graduated high school he had left the family again so there's like two different periods of my life where it's like neglect or just not feeling chosen in a sense so we've never had a really consistent relationship no consistency in our relationship so again my sister's birthday is yesterday everyone went to my mom's house to celebrate my dad came and uh hear him come in he's loud you think i'm loud like he's he's louder i'm the second he's the first he's super loud so i go speak to him because you got to like go attack these things you can't like sit and wait so i go speak to him and it's cool and after I speak to him I go back in the other room where Sherelle is and then he comes in and he starts talking and then part of his conversation he's like man you don't call me I seen you a text message you don't respond and he goes to Sherelle he's like I don't get it I took him to all his events and when he's talking about taking me to my events he's talking about high school and I'm like bro like that's four years of my life like we're not just gonna act like that's four years I have a full life beyond that and when I thought about it I'm like you've been out of my life longer than you've been in it I've learned to live life without you and I've become comfortable in that it's not like I'm yearning for this relationship I would say not not a piece of me is in full transparency I love my dad I would love to have a relationship with him but I've come I guess I've built up this heart callous where it's almost like I I've done

01:37:10 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 2:

life without you i don't i don't really and again you your dad was incarcerated when you were in the third grade all the way through to the eighth grade to the eighth grade yeah and then when he came out did he come right back into your home with you guys so so when you get released from

01:37:26 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 3:

prison you go to a halfway house so you're not immediately uh i guess put right back into normal society able to live like a citizen you go to a halfway house we have to spend a period of time near and i can't remember the time near but it was it was months there and then you know you get to visit you get to see and then after that period i don't know graduation out of a halfway house then you can come back you know to your home and live life regularly but he did that go ahead mike

01:37:50 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 1:

i was gonna say you you may have mentioned this while i was out but did uh is he close with your kids is he close in your family in general or not just with you with your son he's like

01:37:59 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 3:

he's around and it's it's my son loves him and that's another thing like i don't ever want to be one of those type of parents that because our relationship wasn't great you can't spend time with your grandchild so whenever like he comes by for josiah's birthday he always gets him a birthday present or a christmas present so he saw him yesterday my dad just got back to from jamaica for his birthday which is earlier this month and brought josiah a hoodie back from jamaica and josiah immediately put it on and he loves him so i'm cool making that work because that's what my mom did for me she when my dad went away for prison it wasn't like his side his whole side of the family goes to prison my mom made sure that i got to know my grandmother which was his mother my grandfather which is his father and stay in contact with my cousins and that side but as far as he and i having a relationship it's just one of those things where it's like it's i think it's a lot of pain there yeah and i think yesterday was being able to say that to him and i asked surreal afterwards i was like was that mean to say like i've lived life so long without you that i don't need you anymore that's how i feel she was like it was did you say that out loud yeah i said it to his face this is what i told him wow yeah i've lived life long enough without you that

01:39:02 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 4:

I feel as though I don't need you but sometimes I think parents feel entitled to be a part of our lives and are very vocal about that and sometimes you need to re-establish those boundaries and say no like we I don't I think sometimes people or parents need to realize like it is a not necessarily a right but a privilege to be a part of your kid's life and enough I don't want to like I

01:39:30 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I feel like I have to ignore everything that happened. Everybody wants you just to be like, that's your dad. He may not be around forever. Trust me, when those moments pass, you'll look back, and I get all of that. But just to erase your emotions and your feelings is not realistic. But I also feel like I need to live through it, and yesterday I do feel like was a good moment and a good therapeutic moment.

01:39:50 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Do you feel that your hurt of your dad not being there was mainly from the time that your dad was incarcerated.

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 6:

Or do you feel that when he was not incarcerated, there was also moments where you felt like he wasn't there for you?

01:40:07 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 4:

I think both. But also, like, I love my mom. And the fact that you left my mom and you left my sister. It's not just, you didn't just leave me. You know what I mean? Like, you left the nucleus of our family. And even, like, yesterday, not yesterday, but this past weekend at Daddy Daughters Dance, one of the things I realized was, like, how important dads are in their children's lives. Like, that was the one thing that I took away from.

01:40:29 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 6:

Because you saw these examples of these men that were in their kids' lives

01:40:33 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 5:

And you mentioned that night And I don't know if you're still interested in doing this Trying to reconnect Not necessarily reconnect But rebuild that relationship Is that something you want to do still or no?

01:40:43 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean I feel like you know how it goes bro It's like some days you might Some days you might not You know what I mean? It's one of those moments When I told him that yesterday He was like damn that does hurt But I also understand it Because I wasn't there He's ready to move forward faster than I am

01:40:59 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 6:

But good for him, though, in saying that instead of just going, well, screw him, man, you know what I mean, like walking away.

01:41:05 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 3:

But also, it can hurt sometimes when your parents are ready to move on and you're not. And be like, why don't you see my feelings as still being valid? Why do you think it's time to move on when I have not healed? Like, that's not fair. It's not just about you. It's about us.

01:41:22 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 6:

Right. And to give him, because he's not here to give his explanations on things, but to give him a little bit of the benefit of the doubt, he could have just said, you know, and pushed you in a way, you know, you're a punk ass kid, you know, whatever. But you know what I mean?

01:41:37 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 5:

That's how we got on the topic is him and I kind of bonded over that is my biological dad is not in my life. And I've chosen that. And he's not in my kids. he's in nobody's life for that specific reason because he at one point called me basically a punk ass kid and he stopped showing up to things and he stopped picking he just disappeared and so i i think you should build that relationship because it sounds like it's still kind of there

01:42:02 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

yeah or or maybe it can be salvaged and like you said you want you want your dad and your son

01:42:08 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 6:

josiah's life or to or to go with what megan just said maybe go to get some healing on yourself on what your dad did before you get try to build him back in because sometimes what ends up happening is uh you bring him back in thinking that you're healing it and you're not healing it because you're still hurt and you're still wounded and you're bringing him back in as a wounded guy

01:42:28 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

i feel like when we talk about parents a lot you hear me say cut him off a lot and that's only because i think that the way that i grew up without my mom being in my life was everybody said you'll forgive her you'll work on this you need this you don't know what you've lost yada yada yada and i i really hate that perspective because you have no idea what people are going through look i've lived most of my life without my mom and i understand the lack of that mother figure and the hurt that causes i'm not pro that i'm pro you setting up your boundaries so that you don't continuously get hurt and that is an okay thing to do it is not wrong to cut people off who hurt

01:43:10 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 6:

you that's it and every circumstance and every situation is different right uh patricia what's up it's mojo in the morning kev uh who's here talking about his dad and uh having a chance to see him yesterday for uh first time in a while and man the the thing that he said to him was uh

01:43:30 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 2:

probably took a lot of courage to say what's going on um yeah i totally feel him in every way because um my parents both got locked up but my dad was in and out of my life my whole entire he was out of my life my whole entire life and um now he's passed away and i just wish i would have told him like how i felt you know like my mom i told her how i felt and our relationship is good now but with my dad i wish i would have you know told him how i felt and build a relationship with him but now he's gone so i have some regret yeah i think what kevin did yesterday though in a lot of ways

01:44:10 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 6:

was tell him what he thought i mean i you know i will tell you that my dad passed before i was able to tell him some of the things that he did in our life in my life that really hurt me and i think that there are those moments where you don't have the courage to be able to do it i never did

01:44:25 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 2:

um so and my my biological dad too um he landed up passing away but he was never in my life the first time i ever met him was when he was locked up in prison and he promised me when he got out you know he was going to be in my life and blah blah blah and when he did get out he was never he never made the effort to try to be in my life yeah thank you mom thank you for sharing that i

01:44:51 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 6:

I hope you're doing okay. Hope things are going okay in your life. What's up, Sean?

01:44:57 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hey, I get what Kev's saying. Those of us who had absent parents as we were young, it's easier in life not to deal with them as adults. It's almost traumatic to have to deal with that. You know, my dad passed a couple years ago, and I didn't see him very often. But when he would come up to visit, I would spend a day with him, and then I would be wrecked for days because you're putting on the front to try and be the dad-daughter. But it is, it's just easier as an adult not to deal with it, not to have to think about calling them. You know, I get what you're saying, Kev, but, you know, my dad did pass a couple years ago. You know, they do mean a lot to us. We can say all these things, but in our heart, you know, your dad is there. So I will say, you know, you don't have to accept him in your life, but try to heal. I always told myself my dad did the best that he could with the demons he had. And I never walked in his shoes. And I don't know that I could have done any different. But I know it wasn't me and it wasn't you that was the problem. They are the problem. And they obviously still have issues. So, no.

01:46:14 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask? That's awesome. Can I ask Kevin a question? When you did this, how did your mom and your sister feel?

01:46:23 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 4:

They weren't in there. He came down. Sherelle and I were on a couch, like in the downstairs area. And then he came down there. So only Sherelle heard it.

01:46:32 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 3:

How do you think your mom would feel about what you did?

01:46:35 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 4:

She kind of low-key loves it.

01:46:38 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

01:46:38 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 4:

They got their own little beef.

01:46:41 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 3:

Are your parents still married? No. No. Okay. Ashley, what's up?

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Good morning.

01:46:50 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:46:50 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 1:

i just want to say kev i'm so proud of you with um i just i struggle with this and when my my parents live like five minutes from me and still don't show up for me or my kids and there's so many times when they do show up i feel like i have to say i love you i have to say like it's nice to see you but it really isn't it hurts every time and there's so many times I want to say that to them and I don't and just so you did it you know and I bet you it probably hurt him but it felt good to you to say that because we need to say that we don't need to say I love you and I'm in therapy because I'm I don't know how to say I don't want you in my life or it's hard for you to be in my life because it hurts every time like good for you thank you i'm praying for you ashley

01:47:48 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 3:

if you pray pray for me as well thank you it's amazing to think that the people that we should be able to be the most honest with because as a dad i would want my sons to be the most honest with me that we can't be honest with them you you know you did yesterday a moment that honestly i I give a ton of respect for you because there were so many moments where I wish I would have been that honest with my dad. And I'm sure there's other people listening that wish that they would have been that honest. But if you can't be honest with your parent that may have hurt you, then who can you be, you know? It's like you'll tell your friends or you'll tell your spouse. That's the other thing. You probably with Shirella are the same way too because I'm like this with Chelsea. I'll tell her everything that pisses me off about stuff in our relationship, but I won't tell my parents. So I thought that was great that you did that.

01:48:41 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you, man. And that was another thing. I think oftentimes, I talked to my therapist one time. She called me a control freak. And I was like, what do you mean? Like, I'm chill. I don't try to control anything. She said that you control your, you try to control the situation by taking it easy on people, choosing what it is that you'll say to them because you don't want to hurt their feelings. Instead of just fully communicating what you feel and saying it the way that you feel it in your heart, you kind of take it easy because you don't want them to feel bad and that was one of those moments where I was like look man I don't I don't this is gonna sound mean but this is what it is

01:49:15 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

and live with it yeah thanks for sharing that we appreciate it if you want to comment on this we'll put a post up on social media with this and we want to hear what your thoughts are especially sometimes we get people that didn't hear the full segment live or on podcast and they just hear the clip or see the little clip people that heard this entire thing they couldn't get on because everybody's here on hold go check that out on social media and make a comment because you you probably had one in your head and you wanted to say it but either you couldn't get through on the phone lines or sometimes you just don't have the courage to actually say it uh over the phone mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 so drake tickets at 7 30 ed sharon tickets at 8 30 minutes

01:50:07 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 4:

Well, Cardi B is shutting down the claims that she cheated on her husband, Offset. He seemed to have posted and quickly deleted an Instagram story accusing her of hooking up with someone else. So she had a lot to say on Twitter Spaces.

01:50:23 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 3:

Come on now. I'm f***ing Cardi B. I think sometimes motherf***er forget I'm Cardi B. If I was giving this f*** to anybody, it would be out. I'm not just anybody. You can't f*** me no regular degular shmegular because they're going to tell the world. And I can't f*** nobody in the industry because they're going to tell too. So please, boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Don't play with me. Stop playing. That's it.

01:50:50 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 4:

Stop acting stupid. CNN airing a recording last night of former President Donald Trump talking about some, quote-unquote, highly confidential documents at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, back in the summer of 2021. This is CNN's Anderson Cooper.

01:51:07 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 1:

They have obtained what is expected to be a central piece of the government's case against Donald Trump, the actual audio recording of the former president talking as if he's showing a highly classified document on U.S. war plans against Iran, with people not clear to even know it exists, let alone what's in it.

01:51:24 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, here is a clip of what they played on CNN last night. He responded on his truth social after CNN dropped that audio, writing the deranged special prosecutor, Jack Smith, working in conjunction with the Department of Justice and FBI, illegally leaked and spun a tape and transcript of me, which is actually an exoneration. Real quick, Noah Cyrus engaged to fashion designer Pink-ish, Pink-ish, excuse me, and actually has been for about a month now. She was previously publicly linked to rapper Lil Xan. And lastly, Jason Derulo spared no expense to celebrate his son's second birthday. Now again, the kid turned two.

01:52:36 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 2:

What a party you put on. That didn't look like a cheap party either. How much that party cost? I was about to say it was terrible But yeah it was It was pretty big Probably about $30,000

01:52:49 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 4:

$30,000 for a two year old's birthday party

01:52:52 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 7:

Wait a $30,000 Two year old birthday party

01:52:56 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that crazy Or potty as that guy

01:52:59 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh I thought he bought him a potty

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 4:

No party

01:53:03 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 8:

I was like wait a second

01:53:07 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 7:

Did he buy him the squatty potty Or did he buy him one of those bidets Or something

01:53:12 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 6:

$30,000. That's amazing. $30,000.

01:53:16 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 7:

Does Jason Garulo have that much money? I know he's had a lot of hit songs, but... TikTok money. That's a lot.

01:53:22 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 4:

He pops off on TikTok. Exactly it. Yeah. All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty Fates on NojoInTheMorning.com.

mojo in the morning paying bills got a chance for you to win some cash how about this a thousand dollars we will give you an opportunity coming up here on the mojo in the morning show and then 13 times a day on channel 955 104.5 snx 92.5 kiss fm mike mike mike mike yes you just recently found out that someone is selling your stuff no i got busted for selling oh you got busted for selling

01:54:15 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 6:

your selling theirs yeah so so i don't know if i even told you guys this but we finally have saved up enough and have uh put put away enough money to build that baby room that we were freaking out about um which we are incredibly excited about but it's also an end of an era like my dj era is is done i'm you know i'm not gonna i'm selling the equipment now and i'm getting rid of i'll probably produce music and do production at my house but other than that i'm i'm done djing maybe hosting but done djing which is crazy to think about but i've started beginning to sell that stuff and so i started posting it online and posted on those like facebook marketplaces and and garage sale sites or whatever. And

01:55:00 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 3:

And I had a buddy reach out to me, a DJ buddy, and he goes, you better give me some of that money. I said, I'm sorry, what? He said, those speakers, I gave you those speakers when you first started DJ. I DJed for like 10 years. He's like, when you first started and you were trying to do wedding gigs and birthday parties and DJ gigs, he's like, I gave you those speakers and you never gave them back and you're now selling them? And I said, well, hold up. You gave them to me and said they're old and you don't need them anymore. And I thought that was like a you can have them sort of, you know, like, here you go. There was never a talk of, like, you need to give me money for this.

01:55:42 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 2:

That's an interesting thing. I never thought about that. If somebody gives you something.

01:55:45 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 4:

It's a gift. It is yours.

01:55:47 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 2:

But if somebody gives you something or says, hey, you know what? You can have this or use this. Like, okay, I get it's a gift. But in this case, the guy gave him the speakers to help Mike with his DJ equipment.

01:55:58 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 3:

It was like a help to get me started. Yeah, it helped him get them started. But I guess I never thought about it being like, hey, you have to give these back to me someday or pay me for these. Well, I mean, he didn't make you give him any money from your DJ gigs, did he? No. No.

01:56:14 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 1:

So why now? Like, how broke are you that you are trying to get the money from this? I think you're totally on the right, Mike.

01:56:21 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 2:

I hate to say it, but I'm a siding with this guy. With the guy? I'm siding with the guy. Yes, I'm siding with Mike's DJ friend, DJ Melly Mel or something. What is his name?

01:56:31 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to call him.

01:56:32 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're not shouting him. Come on, shout him out. Let's play a DJ. No shout out, no money.

01:56:37 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 1:

That's his payback, trade on the station. DJ Cheap Guy.

01:56:40 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Why do you agree with him? I agree with him because, first, Mike got started because this guy was generous enough to give Mike his speakers, otherwise it would have cost Mike.

01:56:49 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Key word.

01:56:50 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 2:

I understand that. But he didn't give it to him like, here's a gift for you, a birthday gift, or here's a whatever gift. He gave it to him like, hey, I'm going to help you get started.

01:56:57 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's called a just because gift.

01:56:58 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 2:

Mike, at very least, you would be a mensch if you took the guy out to eat or something. Use some of the money that you got off the thing, and you go do something with it. Do something with the guy.

01:57:09 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, okay. But I mean, since then, we have exchange. Like, hey, I got a gig. If you want it, you can have it. I can't do it. Like, I've passed along gigs. So you have given him gigs. Are you trying to make yourself look good? You're lying to me. No, I'm not lying to you, but I am trying to make myself look good.

01:57:25 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I think that you owe this guy something. I don't know.

01:57:29 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, I can see both sides. I see both sides because really it seemed like it was a gift. But at the same time, like it was a gift. Maybe I shouldn't be selling his stuff. Maybe I need to give it back. I honestly don't know. I didn't think about it. I put it up, and then he busted me putting that up and selling it. What did he say? He said, hey, I better get a cut of those speakers.

01:57:54 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 2:

And I said, what are you talking about? By the way, we're doing Am I the A-Hole coming up here next on the show. Maybe Mike has already done Am I the A-Hole.

01:58:01 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't necessarily think I am. Or maybe this guy is the A-Hole. I don't think I am. Like, if you wanted the money, I could have given you the money to begin with, but maybe I am. I don't know.

01:58:09 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 2:

That's 10 years ago. Right.

01:58:11 - 01:58:11 | Unknown:

Right.

01:58:11 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 4:

What are we talking about?

01:58:12 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe you're giving up the DJ business.

01:58:15 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 4:

I agree with Mojo on that, though. I like you doing that. You are so good at that, Mike. I feel like that could be such a good side hustle for you. Thank you.

01:58:24 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 3:

It took some time, and I think if I could hook a laptop up to speakers, and I don't want to bring the equipment, so I don't want to bring the speakers. I don't want to set it up. That's the pain in the butt? Yes, because it ends up being, you know, you have a four-hour gig or whatever, but it takes eight hours to set up the equipment, and they don't pay you for that. It's a lot of work. It's way too much work for not a lot of payoff. And then with the pandemic, it kind of shut everything down, and I realized I can't rely on that.

01:58:50 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 1:

See, this is why I don't post my things that I'm selling to my friends and family. I don't want to sell you my stuff, and then I don't want you to see what I'm selling because then situations like this happen, not that I've been through this, but like how did that guy even find your listing?

01:59:04 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 3:

Because we live sort of in the same area, so it's like a Hudsonville-Jenison garage sale thing. So he just saw it pop up in that.

01:59:13 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, Mandy?

01:59:14 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you?

01:59:15 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

Good. What do you think about this, Mike, selling the DJ equipment?

01:59:20 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

I think he should have reached out to the guy first just to say, hey, I was thinking about selling these. Do you want them back, or would you like to split the profit as a thank you for helping me out? But he should have reached out to the other guy first.

01:59:31 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 2:

It would have been the polite thing to do.

01:59:33 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you talk to this guy regularly, Mike? No, it's like an acquaintance. Like, it's a friend, but it's not like a friend.

01:59:39 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 4:

And again, this was a decade ago that he gave them to you, right? Yeah, it's a stinky one. but still reaching out probably would have been the nice thing just to give that an option to say no.

01:59:49 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And also the other thing too, the reason why I'm siding with them is I know that I've given Mike a lot of things over the years and I know it's going to come back to bite me in the ass. gonna be a time okay so but that's my question to you would you really care if he if he like wasn't using something that you gave him and so he was like oh i could make a couple bucks off of this i'm just gonna put it up on marketplace yes you would not care if i knew mike if mike became rich

02:00:14 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 4:

off of my stuff i would want a piece of the whole deal i've had more people in this world take ideas that i have uh given them and make tons of money with it you know or can you can you introduce me to Vince Lucido, and yeah, Vince Lucido, here I go, and next thing you know, my thing ends up screwing me.

02:00:32 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 1:

I guarantee, if Mike had donated that stuff to the Salvation Army, he wouldn't have any idea and he never would have brought it up. I'll tell you

02:00:38 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 4:

what, Mike, why don't you give it to DJ Four Fingers? Give him an

02:00:42 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 2:

opportunity. Give him a chance. Give him a shot. That is another thing I did think about doing. How do I pass that down to somebody else? Do you know what I mean? Who's the next person I should give these people? Pass it down to me.

02:00:52 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

I got a baby room to build. DJ Four Fingers. Listen, hold on.

02:00:56 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 1:

This is the second date update music mixed with last night.

02:01:02 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 4:

No, this is...

02:01:02 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 1:

It's actually fire.

02:01:03 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Somebody told me this is Warren G.

02:01:05 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 3:

Regulate. Regulate. Look at that, DJ.

02:01:19 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 4:

Give me that. Somebody, a listener, told me when we were talking about Morgan Wallen and the remix stuff, They said that this DJ, whatever the heck's name is, DJ, no, DJ Eric Rhodes. I don't want to take credit for that. See, Mike, that's what you do.

02:01:34 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Nikita? Hi.

02:01:37 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 7:

Hi, everyone. Good morning. Good morning. I'm one of the eight from the Daddy Daughter Dance. Yes! Hi, Nikita. Hi. Look, Mike, once someone gives you something, they forget about it. They should forget about it. has nothing to do with them anymore i give my sisters things all the time and my sister like the fluid that's gone right like i gave her um like a vacuum cleaner because she needed one when she moved the stuff and then when she got a new she's like you want this no sell it get rid of it throw it away give it to somebody else i don't care once i give you something i have nothing

02:02:21 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 2:

to do with it anymore yes he has nothing to do so you wouldn't care if they if they sold it and

02:02:26 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 7:

made money off of it then no have at it yeah i just want to get it out of my house anymore yeah it's not mine anymore i would never feel entitled that somebody has to give me uh some profit off of what they made after i gave no marquee what do you think it's mojo in the

02:02:44 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 6:

morning hey um so i'm speaking as a paralegal and what the law says that would be considered

02:02:50 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 4:

to get oh yeah you hear that yep you hear that who are you talking to that's a gavel you talking to him is that what you're talking about right that's right it's legal no yeah it would be

02:03:02 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 6:

definitely a gift um if he didn't even ask for money or anything in return it's a gift okay so as a the law states is it a gift though or is it a lending he didn't say he wanted it back though He didn't say anything about wanting it back

02:03:20 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 1:

But did he say this was for you Or was this for you to use

02:03:24 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 2:

He said here's some speakers To get you started with a gig And then it was like Here's some speakers to get you started I am gifting you With these speakers to get you started Wait, wait, objection He never said hey when you're done with them

02:03:39 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Objection

02:03:40 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 1:

Text me how expensive those are

02:03:43 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Objection Also, Marquis.

02:03:47 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 6:

Sorry, but also, then again, you could even say it's abandonment.

02:03:52 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 3:

Abandonment, okay. Marquis, can Mike counter sue? Obviously, this is weighing heavy on him.

02:03:57 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, definitely. By the way, listeners are remembering, remember when I gave away my pants and I had my money in the pocket? The money was in the pocket of the pants?

02:04:05 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

Maybe he wants you to pay it forward.

02:04:08 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Let me explain my thought real quick.

02:04:11 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 1:

You guys are acting like these are $50 speakers, by the way. This is like $1,000 of equipment.

02:04:18 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 4:

A listener just texted in and said, well, there's a couple of listeners here. One says, Mojo never sides with Mike. So rude.

02:04:25 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 2:

Another one says here. That's 100%.

02:04:27 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Another one says, Mojo is siding with the guy because you remember when he gave away his pants and there was money in the pocket and he was pissed that the person didn't offer the money back? It's true. It happened on a couch, too. I didn't give him that. It happened on a couch. I'm doing contracts now for people. If I was this guy, I would do it What's his name again? DJ? Come on DJ Broke It is time now Here on the Mojo in the Morning Show For Am I the A-Hole We got another dispute here on the show That we need to settle For a member of the show

02:05:00 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 5:

So the am I the a-holes that we do, you can actually text a-hole to 95500 if you have something that makes you think that people will think you either you're an a-hole or not an a-hole if you want to clear your conscience. KP from the show, our producer, did something that she's wanting to know if she's an a-hole. I can't sleep at night.

02:05:20 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 2:

I literally cannot. I'm tossing and turning over this.

02:05:23 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 5:

And you're not overly dramatic on that. You actually legitimately last week were very shook about this.

02:05:30 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I have been, ever since I moved home, I've been looking for an apartment. And I wasn't making any moves until I found the perfect place. And recently, I had a friend that I went to high school with asked me to live with her. And I'm like, all right, sure. Because I'm very open to having roommates. I love roommates. I don't mind splitting rent. So I said yes. And we were looking not super seriously. I was, you know, sending her a couple listings here and there. We would talk maybe every four days. And I went to go tour a place last week, and the two bedrooms were terrible. But the one bedroom was really nice. And I feel awful because I applied for the one bedroom, and I put down a deposit.

02:06:17 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

Good for you. Did you tell them? Nope.

02:06:21 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 3:

so is she still looking for a two-bedroom place or have you told her since signing the

02:06:29 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 2:

the application or lease or whatever i um i've mentioned it to her uh but i still feel like an

02:06:36 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

a-hole i i don't think you're an a-hole and here's why you didn't like the two-bedroom so either you're gonna live somewhere that you don't like just to save the relationship or make the other person happy or you're going to make yourself happy and live somewhere where you're comfortable and you enjoy it. I'm not mad you chose

02:06:55 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 5:

yourself. But don't you think she should have said something ahead of time before she did it? So that person could figure out what they're going to do because their living life is now up in the arms.

02:07:07 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 4:

I mean, KP, you tell us sometimes you got to act quick. You might be in a situation where everybody wants to spot us a hot property. I got to

02:07:15 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 2:

activate. That was my fear because I've been looking. I mean, ever since I moved home, And lately it's been tough getting to work on time with how far I drive. And this place was perfect. I haven't been seeing like good locations within my price range. And this was perfect. It had everything. And so I feared that if we waited to find another place that would accommodate both of us, I wouldn't have all every box checked for what I needed to live. So I feared that I was going to lose that place if I waited any longer.

02:07:43 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 5:

I think that that's okay All well and good But at least lie

02:07:49 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean

02:07:51 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 5:

Well at least do all the paperwork and all the money And all that stuff and then call them up And say you know what I really like this one bedroom But I want to talk to you about it Ahead of time Make them feel at least like they had a decision in this Instead of I'm leaving you

02:08:06 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Gaslight them

02:08:08 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 5:

Well you know what sometimes in life It's not gaslighting unless they know that they've been gas-lit. I don't know. And I get it. You know, it's hard nowadays to find places because a lot of times people need to take roommates because it's expensive out there. It's tough.

02:08:24 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 3:

But you also said that you guys weren't super serious about looking. Like, she was like, hey.

02:08:29 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was like communication was skewed. I was sending her the listings. And so I felt like, I mean, I get like what Kev said. It's my life, and I'm spending a ton on gas, and I need to make this change for me and so I didn't want to listen to someone else I mean I would prefer to have a roommate but then again

02:08:52 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 3:

it's my life. Did you guys talk about like hey if I found a place just for me or you found a place just for you that's totally cool or was that just left like a gray like this murky gray area. That was gray.

02:09:02 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 2:

We'd only just said like hey would you want to be roommates so we didn't have anything like written down or contracted. Set in stone.

02:09:07 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 5:

This is big. This is big. KP and her friend were going to get an apartment together. They were going to be roommates. KP went to go look at the apartments by herself while her friend was thinking that KP was trying to find a place for both of them. KP found a place just for herself. Is she the a-hole?

02:09:31 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 3:

I haven't heard this song in forever.

02:09:35 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Amanda?

02:09:38 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Mojo?

02:09:39 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 5:

Hey, is KP an a-hole?

02:09:43 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 1:

If KP didn't tell the friend that she didn't like the two-bedroom, then yes. But if KP did tell them, then no.

02:09:53 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

So here's the plot twist. I sent her videos of the two-bedroom apartment before I put down the deposit, and she said...

02:10:00 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 3:

that she hated it. Oh! Good. You can be clear. Okay, but that doesn't mean that you're out of the partnership of still finding a place together. Yeah, you're supposed to go look at another place. That's the sticky part. I didn't want to look for anything else because we didn't have anything lined up.

02:10:14 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 1:

How good of a friend is this?

02:10:15 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

I have not spoken to her in eight years.

02:10:19 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. Well, you're not going to speak to her for another eight years. She ain't coming to the house when we party. But I like how you were justifying this, and KP's even. I haven't spoken to her in eight years, so this will be... You're justifying it Because you know why? Because you know that deep down inside, there's a little bit of a-hole in there.

02:10:33 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. I'm going to say that I think I'm being an a-hole right now. But, again, it's my life. Exactly.

02:10:40 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 1:

I think that the interesting thing is you didn't even look to see if there was other places. You just jumped on this one. Are you like this with boyfriends, too? Would you do this with, you know, if you guys were all out at a bar and she was interested in a guy, you were interested in a guy?

02:10:58 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh. No, I'm not going to be with a guy if my friend is interested in him.

02:11:04 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 1:

At all. You say that.

02:11:06 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 3:

Because there are so many men out there. It's so hard to find a good girlfriend. Why would I risk a relationship for a guy?

02:11:13 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm just making sure on that. I trust you on that one. Texters here saying KP is not an a-hole. Believe me, I've tried to find places to live with my own family. We're thinking about splitting up because we can't find enough good places to live. Another texter here says, hey, Mojo, have you tried to find a place to live in a while? You should see how expensive it is out here. What's up, Diane? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey, good morning. Good morning. It's KP in a hole.

02:11:41 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. No, absolutely not. And she said it herself because it betters herself for getting to work on time. I know how important that is. It's saving gas. And, girl, just got to do you. Don't worry about anybody else. I appreciate that.

02:11:58 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 1:

So, does she owe at least this girl a call because she hasn't even told her yet?

02:12:03 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And just be completely honest and just tell her that, you know what, like, you didn't like the two-bedroom place that I had, you know, liked, but I found a place that I like, and I'm going to go for it.

02:12:19 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 1:

Or lie to her and tell her you're staying with your grandparents.

02:12:22 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell her that Mojo said it was okay.

02:12:33 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm not disagreeing with you just to be devil's advocate on this one here. I think you should have at least called her ahead of time. Not that you needed to stay with her and just say to her, I'm going to get this place.

02:12:44 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

I do agree with that. Yeah, you're not in the wrong with the apartment you wanted. You just should have told her. A little text. Hey, it's fresh.

02:12:51 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 1:

She'll be fine. Are you hoping that she's listening to the show and this is her way of knowing?

02:12:57 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't have to tell her.

02:13:01 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 1:

If you need a place. Bojo in the morning. Ciao. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The telephone number. We're going to do War of the Roses here on the show Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I found this to be fascinating. I was checking this out, and I thought, I know we've talked about this, but have we really delved into it to see if any of our listeners are currently doing it? You might be micro-cheating if you like social media posts or you confide in your ex. According to Alicia Monez, a relationship counselor, micro-cheating is the act of cultivating in small ways inappropriate intimate connections outside your relationship. Well, that actually got me thinking a little bit. Uh-oh. Hold on a second here. I think that I want to know more about this. I want my wife to know less. While it doesn't necessarily involve you physically cheating, like having sex with somebody or kissing another person, actions actually sometimes speak louder than those moments. In your actions of doing things on social media or texting, emotional connection, you are micro-cheating. And I know that we've numerous times on our show have had people that have said, hey, you know, I think my spouse is cheating. Here's the reason why. I found some text messages and we'll say, well, can you read those text messages? And people have read us text messages that are so incriminating. I'm like, you don't need us.

02:15:08 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 3:

Right.

02:15:09 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 1:

But then there are some that it's like a text message and it was like, thanks, hon. You know, a person said something like that to them. Or it was a text message from a person that said, I remember there was one particular wife that said, I know my husband is cheating with one of our neighbors. he constantly has communication with her where she doesn't communicate with me. I'm like, oh, I'm intrigued by that. Well, the communication was he was actually coaching the soccer team for the kids in the neighborhood, and she was one of the moms. Now, if it becomes more than talking about soccer, then there's an issue there.

02:15:47 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 3:

What does this give as the different things, different items?

02:15:52 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so some of the common examples that people included was confiding in an ex about a current relationship issue. So if you're talking to somebody about your current relationship with your ex and asking them for their thoughts on it and they're giving you thoughts that probably are way too honest, that's one of the issues. Neglecting to tell someone the status of your relationship. So having a conversation with somebody but not actually saying, by the way, I'm in a relationship. Inside jokes that make someone who is not your partner secretly messaging someone, not inviting your partner to events because, you know, the other person is going to be there. This is all micro cheating. And anybody guilty?

02:16:45 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 4:

In the past, yes. In the past, yeah. I definitely have not, like, probably early or right in the beginning of Allie and I's relationship, I didn't tell people the status of my relationship. And I attributed it to the job, but I think it was still what it was. It's still what I was saying.

02:17:01 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

So nobody knew that you had a girlfriend? Yeah, kind of.

02:17:06 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 4:

Kind of. And then eventually I would say that I have a girlfriend, and then it kind of went away.

02:17:11 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 1:

But I definitely in the beginning didn't do that. I have respect for you for saying that because, honestly, I've done the same thing, too, and I haven't said anything, but I would talk to people and you'd be having conversations and you'd be like, man, this does not feel right. And I think you always have to ask that question. Is this something that you would actually like in a group chat send with your wife on the group chat? You know what I mean? Right.

02:17:35 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 3:

Is this a way that you would act if your partner was in the same room?

02:17:40 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

And I think intent matters also. Like if you're not saying it because you want to come off as single,

02:17:45 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 3:

then obviously that's wrong yeah yeah well in the secretly messaging though what's that lydia i'm

02:17:50 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 5:

sorry can i add my input on it for a minute sure go ahead if you don't want your significant other seeing who you're following or liking that said person's post you probably shouldn't be doing it

02:18:01 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 1:

oh yeah absolutely great one well that that is micro cheating right there right that is definitely micro cheating are we speaking to somebody specifically it sounded like it came from

02:18:11 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 2:

Ex-boyfriends.

02:18:12 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 1:

Ex-boyfriends. Okay. So they've done that. Do you ever talk to any of your ex-boyfriends?

02:18:18 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 5:

No, definitely not.

02:18:21 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Cut them off. Are you being honest?

02:18:26 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm being honest.

02:18:27 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

Why are you giggling and laughing?

02:18:30 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 4:

There's one that she's not telling us.

02:18:33 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 3:

She's got this big smile on her feet.

02:18:35 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 4:

I know.

02:18:36 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 5:

There's one I'm on, like, decent terms with, but we just don't talk out of respect for gas station girls.

02:18:41 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 1:

By the way, we just backed you right into that corner, didn't we? We backed that bus up right there, and we just rolled right over your ass. Hey, listen, I will say this, that all these things, you've got to sit there and have to think about. But micro-cheating is the thing that will end up leading to more cheating. And you've got to be careful about it. And you know what? The problem is I think that we live in a society right now where it doesn't make a difference if people know that you have a relationship or it doesn't make a difference if you are in a relationship and know that you have a relationship. That's true. People want to be wanted, right? Yeah. And when you want to be wanted, what ends up happening? You know, you end up letting your guard down a little bit.

02:19:31 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 2:

Some people want you even more when you're in a relationship.

02:19:33 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

it. Yeah. A couple of texters that are texting in right now saying, I actually caught my husband cheating through all of the things that you just said. The social media posts, the having the conversations with somebody without telling me, and then the you're not invited. That's the one thing that you don't realize. That's a big one. Yeah, that's a big one. Yeah. Where you don't realize that you're actually. Some of those I agree with more than others.

02:20:00 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 3:

But that's a big one Because you know that a person

02:20:03 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 2:

That you like hanging out with Is going to be there

02:20:06 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever had that Where you went somewhere Knowing that somebody was going to be there And you go there To see that person And they are there And then you think to yourself Uh oh this is not good I bumped into them And now I got to make an excuse As to why I was there I haven't cut that off right away I was waiting for you guys to go yeah I remember Shannon before you do your dirty on the 30 we have a very special guest in the studio with us it's a big celebrity birthday like Ariana Grande turning 30 yesterday today Jackson Jackson Turner is turning how old Jackson? 11 11 years old today. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you. And Jackson has a couple of distinct honors. He won in the Planet Fitness. Remember we were raising money for the Walk for Wishes. He won a chance to get his birthday wish granted on the radio and be able to get his birthday announced on the air. So very nice on that. And he is also the godson of a famous person, Alicia Bailey from the sales department. Oh, my gosh. The one and only. How is Aunt Alicia? Do you call her Aunt Alicia or do you call her Alicia?

02:21:34 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 1:

I call her Asha.

02:21:36 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 3:

What is that?

02:21:37 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 1:

Just a nickname. Just a nickname.

02:21:39 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 3:

I thought maybe that was a swear word that I could use any time that she turns into scriptolate. I could try that one out. Now, what do we not know about her? Because around here, she's all business. We see the hard shell side of Alicia Bailey. the I negotiate side. Do we see that at home? Does she negotiate with you when you ask your Aunt Alicia to do some nice things for her? Yeah. Yeah, she does, really. Does she ever charge you, by the way, for, you know, hanging out with her? No. Okay. If she does, she like says, here's your schedule. You can actually hang out with me on this date and this date, but I only sell 15s. I don't sell 30s or 60s. Jackson, what a cool name. I like that. J-A-X-O-N.

02:22:23 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

02:22:24 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 3:

What a cool, cool name. This kid, by the way, has got the best dimples in the world. What about the hair? I know, and his hair game. Look at his shoe game. Did you see his shoe game? No. Go show off your shoes. He's got the Jordans going.

02:22:33 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a girlfriend, Jackson? No.

02:22:36 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 3:

Would you like one? We can find one for you. Megan, signal. Not really. That's right. Stay focused, Jackson. Another one turned. Come on. It's not nice. Well, get to meet her first before you say not really. All right. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30th?

02:22:50 - 02:23:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, this is a story I keep seeing everywhere today. former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak calling the cops on her soon-to-be ex-husband Croy Bierman because he allegedly accused Kim's friend of kidnapping their son. I've got the 9-1-1 call and in it you'll hear Kim explain to the 9-1-1 operator, this is only a piece of it, that she let her bestie take her son on a play date. However, her estranged husband didn't like the idea and lost it tried to file a kidnapping report against the friend who was taking the son on the

02:23:24 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 1:

play date i just have a situation here where my husband is threatening a kidnapping because my girlfriend took my son on a play date and now he has harassed not only the mother but my son is shaking and hysterically crying my husband was going through a divorce just came in and said that he's going to file kidnapping charges on her kim ended the call by telling the operator she

02:23:45 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

just wanted to put this on file, which is exactly how the police noted it in the write-up. Pink performing in London on Sunday night when a fan tossed a baggie apparently containing her mom's ashes onto the stage, which very much flustered Pink as she was mid-song.

02:24:04 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 1:

Is this your mom? I don't know how I feel about this.

02:24:13 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how I feel about this. is what she said. Why are you still throwing stuff

02:24:17 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

on stage? Why is that a thing still? Especially Ashley. But that's actually honestly nicer than throwing your cell phone at somebody or throwing change and stuff.

02:24:29 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's not going to hurt anybody.

02:24:31 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

Maybe her mom was a big pink fan and wanted to be on stage with her one day. Maybe she was a performer.

02:24:36 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 2:

What if the bags split? Yeah, and then the ashes go all over everybody who's in that row.

02:24:43 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. You know, I know that that is a huge thing people will go to a concert and they will bring loved ones ashes because that person loved the concert and then spread them at the concert yeah that's kind of a big deal they they tell you it else

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 2:

and Ford Field and Van Andel. Really? Yeah, they always tell you don't do that. Yeah, because they're just going to get

02:25:06 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 1:

sweeped up at the end of the night. Yeah! Okay. Breaking dirty right now. Louis Capaldi says he is taking a break from touring to focus on his mental and physical health. Made that announcement this morning on social media, writing he came to the realization after his Glastonbury set on Saturday, during which he lost his voice. Fans had to help him finish this song right here, actually, that he was singing. Earlier this month, I know he canceled all shows prior to Glastonbury in order to be his best for that festival. But he writes, the truth is, I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's. And on Saturday, it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come. Real quick, Olivia Rodrigo announcing the release date for her second album. It's called Guts. It is going to be dropping on September 8th. That news comes after Olivia shared the title of the album's first single is called A Vampire. And it is out on Friday. Are we world debuting that?

02:26:09 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 2:

I'll do it in the dirty if we're not. I don't know. I never usually know that because I don't look at my emails that much. Oh, okay. But I would say yes to that. Yes, we are world debuting that because Tony probably sent the email. And then he gets mad at me when he goes, I sent you an email. Like a week ago

02:26:27 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 1:

And this is good A McDonald's drive-thru worker Was busted for being rude By her own mom A viral TikTok shows a mom Pulling up to the drive-thru window Excuse me Of her local McDonald's And demanding to speak to the manager Now she was joking Kinda But she accused Oh my goodness gracious She accused the employee Who again was her own daughter Of being rude Taking her order order and of bad customer service. And the daughter kind of laughs as she realizes, like, the Karen is actually her own mom. So the daughter's like, nope, you owe me $14.06. And the mom says, I would like to speak to your manager. The daughter says $14.06. And the mom said, you were rude as hell taking my order. That is not how you do customer service. Taught her daughter a little. Oh, thank you.

02:27:22 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 3:

$14.06. I said I'd like to speak to your manager. 14.06. You were rude as hell taking my order. I can't. And that's not how you do customer service with customers. I can't be hearing you. Just be, just be. Is that cash record?

02:27:38 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that great? That is awesome. I love that. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty Fades on NotedInTheWinning.com.

02:27:44 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Go. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Jackson, how did Shannon do? in the dirty. Did she do a good job?

02:27:56 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that was not a good one. Come on.

02:27:58 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 2:

That was good.

02:27:59 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 1:

She did okay. I agree with you. I agree with you.

02:28:04 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 2:

Like, if this were, I don't know, American Idol or The Voice or, you know, America's Got Talent, would you tell her that she's going to Hollywood or would you tell her that she's just got to stick around in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo?

02:28:17 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

Got to stick around. Jackson. I agree with you after that one.

02:28:22 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

Simon who? This is my guy. it's that time already thank god by the way for some inclement weather otherwise i wouldn't be able to go to bed at night uh it's kind of nice when it isn't you know the clearest of nights my neighborhood every single year from now until probably october it depends on when the weather stuff turns into a firework zone people just lighten them off all the time you get that and i get the people racing on woodward oh yeah yeah that that i'll tell you what i don't envy you it's from like april until october for those that don't live uh in the area woodward is known for this dream cruise thing where these people pull out their old cars that need mufflers

02:29:14 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 3:

I feel you

02:29:25 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 2:

it gets to be loud and crazy oh can I throw fireworks displays are also a big thing too like parties and things like that so let me ask you guys this question do you think that we are like I don't know party poopers every party needs a pooper and that's why we invited mojo um i went to a fireworks party this weekend so they had a fireworks display on one of the lakes here and i went with two people that you guys may know you you know i know you guys know the listeners may know not know him, but I know they'll know at least one of them because he advertises on our station and he's Megan's future husband. So I went with Steve Gabara and Jeff Sackwa to a fireworks party. Us, the three stooges. So we go to this fireworks party and I don't know if you guys are like this or if you think that I'm just like ridiculous for doing this. We got to the party at like seven, they had barbecue and they had drinks and all this stuff. And they don't light off the fireworks until dusk, which is typically like 10.02 or 10.10 or something like that at night. So from seven until that time, we had a great time. We drank, we ate. I mean, it was just awesome. But as soon as the fireworks started going off into the sky, like the moment that the very first one went and everybody all of a sudden if you ever want to rob somebody here's when you rob them when the fireworks display goes off everybody instantly just looks right up and forgets all their stuff that they have around them including their wallets purses whatever i swear to you i could have made off with some like really nice purses because there's some ladies there was nice nice purses we raced out of this place like we literally took off running because it was one of those things where it's like, I want to beat the traffic.

02:31:26 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 4:

There is nothing more mojo than that story right there.

02:31:29 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 2:

So the whole point of going is the fireworks, but for me, it wasn't. It was to see people, and it was to enjoy the food, and I was kind of like, I'm done with this. I don't want to be part of this. And Jeff and Steve were exactly that same way. They both were like, all right, let's get out of here. And we got out of there as fast as we possibly could. It was so damn funny. And it made me think, I get made fun of all the time by listeners, people who are on the show. If I go to a concert, I never stay for an encore. I am out of that place so fast.

02:32:11 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 4:

No, that's when all the good songs are. Oh, for the most part.

02:32:14 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

You are such a liar, you go do the same thing too.

02:32:16 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 3:

for shows that i i don't really exactly care to be at right see i told you that you do that but

02:32:26 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

if you're if it's one of your shows that you are like you know those you don't have to worry about beating the crowd to the parking lot because there's only like a hundred people or something

02:32:36 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 3:

you know what i think the rule should be though it's just no concerts on the weekday that is the most ridiculous. We should

02:32:43 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 4:

create a new law. Concerts are only on Fridays and Saturdays. My friend just invited me to go to Pink with her and I'm like, it's a Wednesday night.

02:32:52 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys strategically do it where you look at the set list and then you pick which song you want to leave at? You know exactly what song you're going to leave at?

02:33:00 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. I am out of there as soon as, I looked at that Taylor Swift set list, which was a long set list, and I knew what era I was leaving by.

02:33:07 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 1:

i mean i was like here i am out of here i'm the exact opposite like but for the same reason so i'm not one of those people where as soon as the event ends and you see everybody in a line or in a rush to literally go nowhere but to stand in front or behind someone i will wait until security says hey sir it's time to go like i'm usually there when people are cleaning up because i don't

02:33:31 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 2:

want to rush to wait but you don't you don't get bored though like that's cool and you don't like

02:33:37 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 1:

the hate the idea that you're waiting one of the funny arena one of the funny things that happens though is everybody likes people watching you get to see who's drunk you get to see who lost their

02:33:45 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 4:

phone or something i i would i could not ever go anywhere with you because if i if i'm waiting around in my head i'm going i would be halfway home by now or i would be home in my bed right

02:33:56 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 1:

now and i haven't even left it's a parking lot like literally especially if you parked in like

02:34:00 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 4:

That's why you gotta use ParkWiz. You just get right out of there.

02:34:04 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 3:

I think it would depend on, am I staying downtown? If I'm staying downtown and I can walk to my hotel, then yeah, I might wait. But if I have to go through traffic or if I have a kid with me or anything that has to do with traffic, I'm beating that traffic. Other than that, I'll walk. I don't care.

02:34:19 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 4:

And you don't even really like fireworks anyway.

02:34:21 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I hate them. I hate fireworks. So for you, it doesn't matter. Fireworks to me are the biggest waste of time. Like, you watch these things. I mean, it's like people are like, oh, my God.

02:34:31 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 4:

I love fireworks. They make me happy. But I don't get, like, the, you know, like, the bros that spend three grand on fireworks every year. That's, like, the big, like, Ford fireworks, that's cool. Yeah. You know, you go somewhere and they have the fireworks, that's cool. But, like, people that drop thousands of dollars on them, that's what I don't get.

02:34:50 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 3:

What about hundreds from Crazy Kathy's? Asking for a friend. Asking for me.

02:34:55 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

See, I have to tell you that the fireworks display, I heard when.

02:35:00 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 3:

The one that we were invited to over the weekend I heard they had to stop it in the middle They would shoot him off off of a lake Some a-hole drove his boat Into the middle of the fireworks Like actually started Because you know the people that live on the lake Have like boats that they can actually go watch them from So the person was actually doing it I'm sorry I don't enjoy it that much It's like concerts Like I think a concert is great Like I love the experience of being able to see some good songs But I don't like the experience of sitting in that parking lot We stayed until the Chelsea wanted to stay until the very end of that Zach Brown

02:35:35 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 1:

I was just going to say I was right behind you Walking up Now we're going to stay here We're two hours in the parking lot And I need to go to the bathroom Wait, is that what I sound like? That is not exaggeration

02:35:47 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 3:

That's exactly what you sound like

02:35:48 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 4:

Bitched the whole time

02:35:50 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 3:

On the way out So Chelsea's friend was in from out of town She's a big fan And she wanted to go to this stupid concert We go to the concert I had a great time The best And all she wanted to hear Was Zac Brown saying Chicken fried

02:36:02 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah And I'm like

02:36:04 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 3:

We'll hear it in the car I'll play

02:36:06 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 1:

We'll hear it in the car I'll play you a live You said that You said that Oh I could have played this in the car

02:36:11 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 3:

I'll play a live version for you But I sat in that parking lot And for those that have never been to Pine Knob Understand If you go to Pine Knob You gotta leave four hours before a concert And you gotta plan on Five hours after the concert You finally get home because it's like in a neighborhood. It's like one way in, one way out, and you are stuck there unless you do what I do, and that is leave really early. You just get out of there as early as possible.

02:36:41 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 1:

So I said it in the group chat. Harry Styles sings at people who leaves his concert early. He does? Yeah, calling them out for leaving early to beat the traffic. I'm going to hold on, Megan. Oh, my goodness. That is funny. Erykah Badu just did that recently. Like literally stop the concert and start singing Where are you going? It's my absolute favorite He gets the crowd to sing along

02:37:01 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 2:

That's why when we booked artists here The bigger artists wanted to do not the end of the show But like the middle of the show Because they knew people were going to leave early

02:37:09 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

They knew that I was going to be out of there as fast as possible

02:37:13 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 4:

You on the stairs You on the stairs We can see you sneaking out We can see you sneaking out We can see you We can see you We can see you sneaking out Sing it loud now We can see you sneaking out

02:37:39 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 3:

We can see you sneaking out I'm just going to the bathroom

02:37:42 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 2:

Enjoy those traffic free roads

02:37:44 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Enjoy those traffic free roads I'm just going to buy a t-shirt, man Oh, that's funny That is actually good

02:37:52 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 3:

that is totally me um texter texter here says seven or three one three says agree i hate fireworks two minutes is enough i go to fireworks displays and i leave as soon as they start just like you mojo uh five one seven says uh mojo uh you don't like celebrating in america by blowing up stuff made in china our boss i know has said that numerous times with those little uh deep voice guy things i'm not gonna lie to you though the fireworks are okay i hate fireworks if they're being blown off by my neighbor who has to run crazy away from the fireworks that's me 100 that's me mike that is a tiktok right there you got you gotta do this you gotta have ally way back with the kids safe enough that she can also get a good angle on you running because when you see people run. Me running is kind of funny. Have you seen me running? Honestly, my legs are slow motion.

02:38:57 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 2:

Because it never lights right away. So you're like... And then you think it's lit. So you run really fast and then it doesn't do anything. And you start walking closer and all of a sudden...

02:39:05 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Yeah, no.

02:39:07 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

So I am one of those guys. Call us up and tell us what it is that you leave early from. You'll have to tell us. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Let me get to top trending stories because there's so many good stories that are in the news that some of these Shannon didn't get an opportunity because she had a lot of dirty this morning too to cover. We will start off with this one here. We talked about it yesterday in a conversation on the air michigan's new distracted driving law goes into effect on friday june the 30th that means that if you are caught with a cell phone in your hand and you're not using any kind of bluetooth that you can get pulled over and ticketed and fined

02:40:00 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 2:

And a matter of fact, you could even lose your license if you get a number of these. Tragic numbers speak for themselves. Based on 2021 data in Michigan, there were 21 deaths and 2,765 crashes resulting from the misuse of phones in cars. And your chances of a crash go up 400 percent. And some say cell phone distraction is just like driving drunk. This lawmaker spent 17 years on the sheriff's road patrol and is one of the sponsors of this legislation. He says here's the problem.

02:40:31 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 3:

The technology in our younger people has really taken them over. They're constantly glued to their phones. Adults are constantly glued to their phones. There's 12 states that have these, and they have passed these laws. And on average, out of those 12 states, they have decreased fatalities by 16%.

02:40:46 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 2:

If you are hand-holding your cell phone and doing anything other than calling 911 or reporting a crime, you are breaking the law. There is no violation if the phone is mounted. For the first offense, a $250 fine or 16 hours of community service. Wow, that's more I thought. The fines increase, and if convicted three times in three years, you could lose your license for 90 days.

02:41:09 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Wow, I didn't realize $250, I thought that was less than that. That goes into effect on Friday. Did you guys hear the story about the airport worker who died being ingested into the engine at the San Antonio International Airport? No. Well, now they're saying that the death of that worker who was sucked into the jet engine, this happened on Friday, has been ruled a suicide. The 27-year-old David Renner died of blunt force injuries. The medical examiner and the staff saw signs that pointed to suicide. I wonder how they would figure that out. Emergency crews responded to reports that he was ingested into the engine of the Delta Airlines flight that landed from Los Angeles. This has actually been a case where people were not doing it for suicide purposes, but just got too close to it and have actually gotten sucked into the thing. So that's why they believe that it was a complete accident. I never realized that. You can't grab my D, so says a TSA pat-down person. A passenger accused a TSA officer of touching him inappropriately during a search at a Florida airport in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa International Airport. The passenger, Derek Lane, said that he was going through the scanner and the person had to do a pat down. He said, why are you grabbing my D? Followed by, you ain't grabbing my D. During the inspection, TSA officers heard the distinct sound of plastic crunching. The officers then tried to escort Lane to a private screening area. As Lane tried to grab his belongings from the conveyor belt, he allegedly became aggressive. And the security officers said that they called the police to the arrest lane. Afterwards, police allegedly found a plastic baggie taped to Lane's groin that contained 26 grams of marijuana.

02:43:15 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, darn.

02:43:17 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 1:

What is 26 grams of marijuana? Is that enough for how much? Is that a lot? How much is it for? I don't know. I don't know. All right, next story. After a man's flight was delayed by 18 hours, he was rewarded by sticking around the airport by flying on the plane by himself. a tiktok that he posted showed him on a flight from uh oklahoma city to charlotte that was delayed 18 hours phil stringer ended up being the only one on the flight he was the only person that didn't get on another flight that had connecting flights he actually waited the 18 hours out in the airport they even had to call the uh pilots and the flight crew to come from the airport because he was the lone passenger.

02:44:05 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 4:

Why'd they still do that flight?

02:44:06 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 1:

And they had to get that flight to Charlotte, so they actually had to get that plane to fly.

02:44:11 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 2:

I hope they gave him first class.

02:44:12 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 1:

He got to sit in first class. He actually got to watch them do the whole safety check completely by himself, and the workers sat with him during the flight and chit-chatted with him. And even, this is the wildest thing, he even got his bag put on the plane, the loan bag put on the plane, by the baggage handling people.

02:44:32 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 4:

We joked, we laughed, we cut up, we talked, I exchanged phone numbers with them. Like, we're literally still texting today in group messages.

02:44:39 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that wild?

02:44:40 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 4:

That's a great story.

02:44:42 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

He said the only downfall to being on the flight completely by himself when he landed at Charlotte's airport, it took him 45 minutes to get his bag. It was the only bag on the plane, but it still took him 45 minutes because they had to go through a process of taking the bags off of the flight. And the last story here is an interesting one.

02:45:00 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 6:

And it goes to all those that, like me, don't cook at home but like to eat takeout. The average American household spends $3,631 on takeout every year. People living in D.C., the District of Columbia, typically spend more than $6,000, $6,241. They spend the most out of anybody on takeout. Pizza is the number one takeout, obviously, followed by Chinese cuisine. And then Tacos rounds out the top three. So, are you guys takeout people? Do you guys do a lot of takeout? I know you guys like to eat at fast food places.

02:45:40 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I feel like I do more door dashing than I do takeout. Well, that's it. That's what they're talking about. Oh, okay.

02:45:44 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they're talking about that.

02:45:45 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know if you meant, like, pick up at the restaurant, you know.

02:45:47 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I honestly have had the same DoorDash driver twice in the same day.

02:45:53 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 1:

That's a lot of DoorDash.

02:45:55 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 6:

It's like lunch and dinner at the same time.

02:45:58 - 02:45:59 | Speaker 1:

Are you okay, sir?

02:46:00 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 6:

Actually, the funniest was when I saw the thing and it said, Don's on his way with your order. And then the next one later that evening was, Don's on his way with the order. I'm going, what are the odds? Hey, Don, what's going on? All right. Have a great day. We will see you tomorrow for more Mojo in the Morning. Thank you guys so much for listening to the show.
