Right third. Right third. Let down your herd. Down your herd. I like the way you do that right third. Right third. Make it live when you're talking. Let's make it start. Let me start. I like the way you look in them pants, yeah, you're fine. Your mama a quarter piece, she far from a dime. The type of girl that'll get you up and go make you grind. I'm thinking about snatching her up dirty, making her mind. Look at her hips, look at her legs. I show what mine hitting that from the back. I like it when I touch her because she moaned a little bit. Ain't sagging so I can see her thonged a little bit. I know you're grown a little bit, 20 years old, you legal. Don't trip off my people, just hop in the real. I swoop on her like an eagle, swoop down on the spray. I know you poppin' up, but you gon' be famous today, I play. I like the way you do that right bird. Switch it in when you walk and let down your hurt. I like the way you do that right bird. Let your lips when you talk and that make me stir. I like the way you do that right bird. Switch it in when you walk and let down your hurt. I like the way you do that right bird. Let your lips when you talk and that make me stir.

00:09:37 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my goodness. We'll see you next time.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

Mazel tov. Now, come on, girl. You on the Mojo on the morning show.

00:10:53 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 3:

Here we go. It's Remix Friday. Welcome to the Mojo, the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. We have got your Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. It is Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. Fourth of July, Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. Happy fireworks, Mojo in the Morning Show. Smoke is in the air, F-U Canada. Let's win that.

00:11:26 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 2:

This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:11:43 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. And we've got Josiah in with us this morning, who is Kev's beautiful son, his mini-me.

00:11:52 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

B-I-G. We've all already apologized to Kev for saying the F word, the S word, the B word, all the words.

00:11:58 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Guess who the first was today. Can you guys guess who the first person was to throw down the F-bomb this morning here that pretty much is sending all of us to church on Sunday? Now we're going to have the call from Kev's grandma, his 90, what is she, what is she? 92. 92-year-old grandma is going to call us up and say, can I please talk to Megan? I heard she taught Josiah a special little word.

00:12:31 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 5:

I take no responsibility for this. I blame all of you because this is very similar to like calling somebody and then picking up on the car on speakerphone and not telling you that you were on speakerphone. You're right. We want work in an adult setting. And if you don't tell me, hey, guys, good morning. Just so you know, there's a kid in the room. Then you're going to hear normal me.

00:12:54 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, normal me. Huh? Fuck.

00:12:58 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

Are you mocking me now? You're a normal me. I am mocking you. I just want to say every time I use my man voice, I get called out for being mean, but you get to do it to me just so much.

00:13:10 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 3:

By the way, all right, hold on a second. This one is from, let's see where this is from. It's from something. I think Reddit. It's on Reddit. But the title is, Can a Lady Ever Use the F Word? The F Word is in the Oxford English Dictionary, which suspects it dates back to Middle English. It notes that F, which is the word, has been regarded as a taboo for centuries until recent times, not often recorded or in print. And then the subject of this thing, because I thought, wow, this would be a topic all the time. Is a lady a lady if she uses the F word? Now, when a guy uses an F word, they deem it to be, I guess, a little bit different than when a woman uses an F word. Like, you're not a lady if you use it. If you're a guy, you know, you can kind of get away with that if you want to.

00:14:03 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 5:

Who sets that standard?

00:14:05 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:14:06 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 5:

That sounds like some malarkey double standard.

00:14:09 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 2:

Now shut the f*** up and let me do my job.

00:14:12 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to do the study here. Will you please let me get the study out here?

00:14:15 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 5:

Don't we also do studies where they say you're more intelligent if you curse?

00:14:18 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the thing.

00:14:19 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're right.

00:14:20 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 3:

Can a, wait, if you, so if you're, if, if you hear a woman though say it, does it, does it?

00:14:27 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm just a weak little girl. I need a boy to hold the door for me. Oh, I can't use bad words. I must wear a skirt all the time. Oh, she's in a fiery mood today. I am. I really am. Shut that shit up.

00:14:40 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 5:

I don't like stories like this where it's like, are you being a lady? Are you acting like the way I think you should act because you got boobies? I don't like it.

00:14:51 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, but I will say this. I remember the first time that I ever heard my mom say the F word. And my mom, to me, is angelic. I know right now. She's next to God in heaven, and she's like, I can't believe he's telling this story. But I remember my mom got really, really mad at one of our neighbors down the street that used to all the time, like, throw crap out their car window. And I remember my mom got really mad as the car drove by. You know, he'd throw garbage out the window. I mean, it's, like, trashy. Like, what are you doing throwing garbage out your window and stuff? Yeah. And all of a sudden, he's driving by a house, and he threw garbage out the window. And my mom goes, effing jerk or something like that. And I was like, who is this woman? I kind of like her. I kind of like what she's all about. But do you remember when your parent would swear for the first time? You're like, what is that?

00:15:44 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 4:

We weren't even allowed to say fart. Like, we were not. My dad, it was not so much my mom, because my mom swore around us all the time. But my dad never, like, he was so strict with words. And I think I was in college when I, in the first swear word I heard him say was spit. And my jaw, like, just about dropped. You think, like, your parents aren't capable.

00:16:06 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 3:

I think I started cursing. Come on in. Come in, studio. Go ahead, Megan.

00:16:11 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 5:

I think I started cursing in front of my dad when I was in, like, high school, which, whatever, judge me, I don't care. But I remember my dad, like, yelling at me at the kitchen table for dinner and being like, we don't use that language around here. Where did you even learn that yet? And my brother just started dying laughing at him. Like, you curse more than anybody we know. What are you talking about? Where did she learn? She learned it from you.

00:16:35 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 3:

Josiah. Josiah, welcome to the show. How are you, buddy?

00:16:38 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

00:16:39 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 3:

Good. It's nice to have you here. Josiah, who out of anybody around you says the most swear words?

00:16:48 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to be honest, probably my mom. Well, not my mom. I really got to think about this. Does anybody swear around you?

00:16:58 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 4:

Or are people pretty careful?

00:17:01 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 1:

Not a lot of people are careful. Not a lot of people are careful. Now I got to say, a lot of people at school be doing that. Okay.

00:17:10 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But is it Aunt Megan?

00:17:14 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:17:15 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 3:

Aunt Megan does? That's right. She doesn't.

00:17:17 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 1:

I feel like everybody, not everybody, but people in my family have kind of like an even, so there's not really a person that. Yeah.

00:17:22 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 3:

You never hear your great-grandma swear, do you? No, no.

00:17:26 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 1:

I mean, she never swears.

00:17:28 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. By the way, I did find out, though, that she does make Josiah do work around the house when she's babysitting. I heard that the other day. What did she have you do yesterday?

00:17:38 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 1:

I like shredding. I mean, that's my job over there. Shredding, shredding.

00:17:42 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Shredding, baby.

00:17:43 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just putting the shredder, and that's all I need to do.

00:17:45 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's a lot nicer now than she was when I was growing up. She was the type of grandma that would make you go outside and pick your own switch before she would beat you with it. You had to choose your weapon of death. And the craziest thing was you would go outside, and for me, I started to get hip to it, started to get smart to it. I would try to pick the weakest switch, and she knew what it was, so she would try to bend it, and if it snapped, it was a good one. This is the thing. She would save switches. So she had this little area in the house where she would put the good switches, and we would try to break those all the time. But as far as curse words, I couldn't even say, like, I couldn't call someone a liar. Like, calling someone a liar was, like, basically calling them a curse word. You had to say, like, you're telling a fib.

00:18:27 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Certain things you couldn't do. Nikki, what's going on?

00:18:31 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Not a lot. How y'all doing today?

00:18:32 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we're doing okay. We just got, you know, truck driver mouth Megan over here.

00:18:38 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 5:

That's me, too. I'm right there with you, Megan. Who gets to define what a lady is, anyway? Just curious. These are the same people that I want. Barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning and out of the workforce. Absolutely. Because us little weak minds can't comprehend so many things.

00:18:56 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Wow, listen to that.

00:18:58 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 5:

We're just weak. We're just weak.

00:19:00 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Jay, what's up? Hey, buddy, how you doing? Good. I just want to let you guys know that Josiah sounds just like Kev. Does he? He's amazing. If Kev ever has to take time off, we're going to child labor it, and we're going to bring Josiah in if Kev ever has to have a day. Okay. Yeah. Right?

00:19:24 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

00:19:24 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Can you do me a favor, Josiah? Can you say more of Mojo in the Morning coming up next?

00:19:29 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 1:

More of Mojo in the Morning coming next.

00:19:31 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 3:

I like this guy. This guy's good. Give it up for Josiah. Yeah, gee. He was effing good, wasn't he there, Megan? How smart are you? His Mojo in the Morning is back in the day. We have to go back in time. We give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened. For Tiger's tickets, this one's going to be an easy one. You remember when the Tiger King was released on Netflix? Heart and soul and mind. I've learned from them. Let Carol Baskin keep saying, I can't have these tigers. If he ever had an anime in his life, it would.

00:20:00 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 4:

It was Carole Baskin.

00:20:01 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 2:

Billie Eilish. Carole at Big Cat Rescue.

00:20:04 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 4:

Made her debut in this world and became the youngest person to ever win song of the year.

00:20:10 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 1:

Whoa, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Oh, my God. So many other songs deserve this. I'm sorry.

00:20:16 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 4:

And Ariana Grande. Big song on the radio. What year was this? You talk a big game in the car.

00:20:28 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 1:

Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened.

00:20:31 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the Mornings. Back in the day. What year was this? Oh, nothing made us happier this time than to sit in front of our televisions, quarantining, watching Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin go at each other. Heart and the soul and the mind. I've learned from them.

00:20:53 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 2:

But Carole Baskin keeps saying, I can't have the tiger. If he ever had an enemy in his life, It was Carole Baskin Hey all you cool cats and kittens It's Carole at Big Cat Rescue

00:21:02 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh Billie Eilish made history as the youngest person to ever win Song of the Year at the Grammys

00:21:08 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 1:

Whoa, wow, wow, wow, wow Oh my god, so many other songs deserve this I'm sorry Thank you so much This is my first Grammys I never thought this would end

00:21:19 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 4:

Big song, Ariana Grande had the big song with Positions What year was that, Melissa?

00:21:27 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 2:

It was 2020

00:21:28 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 4:

It was. The year we want to forget except for Tiger King, right? Exactly. Hey, we want to set you up with some tickets. We want to go see the Tigers play. We're going to give you tickets to go see them play against the Toronto Blue Jays at Comerica Park on July the 7th. And our very own KP will be the pregame host, and she'll be hanging out in the Comerica landing just before the game from 5 to 7. So get there early, okay?

00:21:53 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 1:

For sure. Thank you. Good time. I'll see you, Melissa.

00:21:56 - 00:21:58 | Speaker 4:

It reminded me of Billy, intern Billy.

00:21:58 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Everybody say woo. Woo. Woo. Woo. Woo.

00:22:01 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to give you a chance right now. For Post Malone, Drake, and Ed Sheeran tickets, text to win the word that we've been doing all week at 630, 3-T-H-R-E-E. You've got to spell it out. 3. Text that to 95500, and you have a chance to win. So if you text the word 3 to 95500 right now, you'll have a chance to win. a pair of tickets to see Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Post Malone. All three of those concerts. Good luck.

00:22:32 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30. I feel like I need the Rocky music for this story. An Italian government official apparently contacted Mark Zuckerberg about staging a UFC fight against Elon Musk at the Coliseum in Rome. There's something about this that just doesn't seem like right to me. The Minister of Culture of Italy reached out to Zuckerberg a few days ago about staging what could be the biggest fight in the history of the world in the most fabled fight theater in history. Sources say both Elon and Mark would love for the fight to go down at the Coliseum. Of course they would. Zuckerberg's people passed on the message to UFC President Dana White, whose people contacted this Minister of Culture. Now, as for the venue itself, it is one of the seven wonders of the world, if you are not aware, okay? No large events have been held inside the nearly 2,000-year-old amphitheater in hundreds of years. And by the way, only, I think, like 200 spectators can be seated in temporary seating within the theater. So it's very, very intimate if it happened inside. Regardless, both billionaires are all in. They've been negotiating with Dana White about the details of the fight. The biggest obstacle here is the height and weight disparity. Although both guys say they have no issue with it. But Zuck is 5'7", weighs 145 pounds. Elon towers over him at 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He weighs 230 pounds.

00:24:05 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Do you know, speaking of Italy, did you see that they caught that tourist that was carving his girlfriend's name into the wall there. Where was it at?

00:24:16 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 3:

It was at the Coliseum, and he's a British personal trainer. I'm thanking God, by the way, he's British.

00:24:28 - 00:25:01 | Speaker 3:

Travis Scott will not face criminal charges for that deadly Astroworld tragedy. Big update on this. The grand jury met yesterday to decide whether the rapper should be prosecuted for continuing to perform at that festival back in 2021 as thousands upon thousands of people in the crowd began running toward the stage causing 10 people to lose their lives leaving many others injured travis has maintained from the get-go he had no idea that there was a stampede happening in the crowd as he was performing um and he You

00:25:00 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 2:

He's always pointed to the fact that there were police officers in the crowd who were responsible for the safety of the fans. Travis's rep said, now that this chapter is closed, we hope for the government efforts to focus on what is most important, and that is stopping future heartbreaking tragedies like Astroworld from ever occurring again.

00:25:16 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 3:

And you have to mention that Travis was just added to the iHeartRadio Music Festival list for Vegas in September. It's going to be a good show.

It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55.

00:33:03 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning with myself, Shannon, Kev here in the studio, Mike and Megan. We've got Lydia and KP, and of course, Zach, and we're happy that you guys are here with us. uh Kev's son Josiah is with us right now Joe how you doing you hanging out good yeah good to have you here something happened yesterday on the show that was interesting Josiah became a superstar because we were talking on the show about his dad and uh Sherelle uh Kev's girlfriend and the possibility of those guys maybe you know getting engaged with Kev doing a proposal and what kind proposal was Kevin gonna do but something big happened out of that that I think is really it you know wild because we don't think sometimes that the little ears are hearing us right yeah

00:33:55 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

no and Josiah and I have a very open relationship and I told him very early on when he was younger please talk to me about anything and I want this to be a safe space I want this to be a safe environment where you can communicate your feelings how old are you Josiah 10 10 years old Yeah. So yesterday when we had the topic about proposals and we called Sherelle, Josiah was in the backseat. He was getting dropped off to my grandmother's house. And there was a moment in the conversation where Sherelle said that she would love to have the spectacle. She would love for family and friends and a lot of people who we love and are part of our lives to be there to enjoy that special moment. But after that's done, she wants it to just be the two of us and for us to have our intimate moment. and sherelle told me that she could see in josiah's face that he was becoming to be sad he was getting sad he was he was emotional in that moment and he pushed through and he talked on air but when i talked to him later that day and i'll let you talk joe but when sherelle said that intimate moment with just the two of us and josiah

00:34:59 - 00:35:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:35:00 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 4:

his mind he saw a future that didn't include him really and that's what made him emotional

00:35:05 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 3:

did i say that right joe yeah because it's like in my vision when she was saying that it made me think of like because of the baby it's becoming more of like him and sherell thing yeah so i feel like i'm not just being left out but you know kind of like not in there as much

00:35:27 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 5:

i used to wow man yeah are you sure you're 10 years old and you're not like 35 yeah so josiah

00:35:37 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

if you if you had your say you would want to be included in your dad's proposal to sherelle

00:35:44 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 3:

in some way yeah yes yeah and like they can have their little moment you know i'm saying but where where am i gonna be where where am i gonna be that's my question well that's so yesterday

00:35:56 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 4:

um when we went home uh and i had this conversation with josiah and i'm so glad to your point mojo about his i guess emotional maturity um having the ability to have this conversation and maybe there are parents who have dealt with this before where they you know have an older child from a previous relationship and now you know they're they have they found their person and they're bringing in a new not only spouse but a new child like how do you navigate that but then also what idea it was pulled out a sheet of paper and i drew a dot and i said this is me and then i drew another dot and i said this is you and it'll never be a time where your dot is erased or we're away from each other but then i drew a third dot and i said this is cherelle and then this is our new baby and it kind of formed a diamond and it showed that we will always be together we make this shape it's not like when one leaves it's never going to be that way we're all adding no one's attracting Yeah. I love my Joe, man. It'll never be a time where he isn't around.

00:36:51 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 3:

No, tell him what you said to me.

00:36:54 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, what I told him? And Moji, you kind of said yesterday. So with the two dots, I said, you know, the fastest way from point A to point B is a straight line. And our dots were straight across from each other. Yeah. So there'll never be a time. That's cool.

00:37:06 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 5:

Look at the smile on your face. Josiah. That was good. By the way, are you sure that you're not an actor? Did he hire this guy as an actor? You are unbelievable, man.

00:37:16 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something, Josiah? And I hope you know this, but just from people who are just getting to know your dad, the way that he talks about you and loves you and is just so proud of you is really, really incredible. So I hope you know that. Your dad speaks so highly of you all the time. Yeah.

00:37:37 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 5:

And can I say something? Kevin, it's a testament to you. So this is a testament to you as a father. When I hear Josiah speak, I hear this boy talk like a man and be able to communicate to all of us his heart of what he's thinking. And it's because how you have raised him, how his mom has raised him, how all the people around him, Sherelle and, you know, grandmas and all the rest of that stuff. Man, because we're just starting to get to know you. Yeah. And then, you know, it's it's funny. I got to remember the line, but you can't you can't fake great kids. You know what I mean? Like a parent can't fake great kids. You know, it just doesn't doesn't happen that way. and you are obviously a great parent. This is awesome stuff, man. Josiah, I'm just wondering where I'm going to be in the picture when Kevin, Sherell get engaged because I don't want to be pushed out of the way. You know what I mean? You don't think that they're going to forget about me, do you?

00:38:49 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 3:

No. If he does, I'm going to have a talk with him. I was like, oh, you should have a talk with him. All right, I like that.

00:38:56 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, thank you. I appreciate you for that.

00:38:58 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Because you got him this job. It's the reason why he's on here, right?

00:39:04 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, what's going on? Listener Shannon, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just wanted to say, like, that kid is amazing. Like, he, you said it first.

00:39:13 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 5:

Say hi to him. Say hi to Josiah. He can hear you.

00:39:15 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Josiah. How are you? Good. How are you? I'm great. You are just, like, an amazing kid, and you are just well-mannered, and you're just a good kid. And I just want to tell you guys, like, Sherelle and Kev, that you guys are doing a great job with him.

00:39:28 - 00:39:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:39:29 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 5:

Isn't it amazing? I mean, honestly, I am a man who is, you know, 53 years old. I don't even speak like this. I know it. That is true. You know what I mean?

00:39:41 - 00:39:42 | Unknown:

Right?

00:39:42 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 5:

I mean, for goodness sakes. I feel like I have to step up my game a little bit when Josiah comes in the studio. I have to say this. And I'm going to talk Some people, Shannon Listen to Shannon I am not

00:40:00 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 3:

being egotistical okay but I'm gonna be egotistical people sometimes when we post a picture of the morning show we'll say oh my god you guys are better looking than I thought you were but I'm gonna say this not only are we better looking than most other morning shows I think our kids are better kids than most other more I mean we there's our kids we are there are no Hunter Biden's on this radio program okay we are great we have great children on this radio seriously from shan from shannon's children to my children to mike's children to kev's children to the children known as zach kp and lydia for goodness sakes we got lots of good children that are are here right now i feel weirdly left out uh to coralline to coralline yeah for furry children. He even named the people without kids and still didn't include me. Actually, no. Actually, to Scott Mix children. To Scott Mix children, Megan. No, no, no, no.

00:41:02 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 1:

I think we all know. We all know what you meant. Everybody believe me. No. Hi, Megan. I love you. And to be honest, I agree. I shouldn't be included. I'm a bad kid.

00:41:12 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 3:

No. Kev, you know, I know you don't have everything all lined up for what you want to do as far as getting engaged in all the formalities of all the rest of that stuff. But the thing that I realized when I went to the gender reveal, when we all got in the car afterwards, Chelsea said right away, she goes, I love how excited Josiah is, and I love how he was such a part of it. Like, he walked in with you guys, and his outfit fit perfectly with the outfits that you guys were wearing and all the rest of that stuff. And I thought to myself, I'm like, man, I never really, you know, I didn't notice that. I'd noticed the fanfare in the food, you know what I mean? And a mom notices how you, you know, and Sherelle are, you know, treating this young man as the big brother. And I was actually kind of shocked. He would have been just as disappointed if you guys didn't have a baby girl coming your way. I didn't realize that you wanted a daughter so bad or a sister so bad, right, Josiah?

00:42:15 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 2:

If I had to get a sibling, then yes.

00:42:20 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you told everybody at school that it was going to be a girl, right?

00:42:23 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 2:

Before we even knew the gender.

00:42:25 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Wow.

00:42:26 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 2:

I pray for that.

00:42:28 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's awesome. Jill, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:33 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Yesterday, somebody mentioned a podcast for Cecily and Josiah, and I think it would probably be the most popular podcast ever. Could you imagine?

00:42:41 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, Mike, the proximity doesn't even... Doesn't even, you know, we could figure it out. They could do it over, like we do, the show.

00:42:49 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Mike and Megan do it. Let's not just put it out there. They're both, like, so outgoing and well-spoken. I think it would be adorable.

00:42:56 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're good kids, man. It's awesome.

00:42:58 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thank you for the call.

00:43:00 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it.

00:43:01 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:43:02 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 3:

All right, take care of yourself. All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. Yesterday I had a very interesting day. It was another busy day. Can you believe that after all the craziness of what happened, We were at golf, that Pro-Am for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Can you believe that I actually yesterday went out and golfed again? And it was with some good people that helped out Lydia and my good friend Martin Manna. And Lydia, I'm going to have you tell the story right now because I think that this is a great story. So do you guys know who Lydia is? She is the person that you talk to when you call up the show. So the first line of defense to get through on this Mojo in the Morning show. And also, all the great little fun things that we give away and give you an opportunity to win, she's part of that with all the people in our promotions department and stuff. But do you remember when she went on the air way back when and she told the story on the air about how she wanted to go to the White House? And actually, you called out the governor, right?

00:44:04 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I really wanted Gretchen Whitmer to let me into the White House, but unfortunately, she didn't respond. But, you know, who did respond was Miss Alyssa Slotkin. Oh, she did. Oh, my God. So, Mojo got me in touch with his friend Martin Manna and Sharky Haddad, both great guys and Keldean, so that's a plus. And they reached out to Alyssa Slotkin for me, and they got me into the White House. I'm so excited.

00:44:31 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 3:

The Congresswoman got her in. So, listen, so when are you going, by the way?

00:44:35 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to go next Friday. My tour is at 8 a.m. Okay. And I cannot wait to ask Joe Biden if I see him. Does he use a golden toilet?

00:44:45 - 00:44:46 | Unknown:

I just want to know.

00:44:46 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 1:

You need to steal the CPAP machine. Yeah. That's your homework. You got to see how tight that thing is. It's a dare.

00:44:53 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

We need a White House checklist and see how many things Lydia can complete. Lydia, this is like.

00:45:00 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 2:

Like, the coolest thing ever. Like, going on a tour of, first off, you're going to the most famous house in the world.

00:45:08 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited. I really can't wait. I couldn't sleep last night. Have you been to D.C. before? I have. I've been to D.C. twice, but I've never seen even the White House. Like, I've walked past it, but I've never gotten to go in it. I haven't even gotten to get close to it. You know, there's always mumbo-jumbo going on outside of there.

00:45:27 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Is that what they call that? Mumbo-jumbo?

00:45:29 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like, you know, the protesters and stuff, so I just stay back and like to take a peek. But I love to go to all the museums and stuff, but this time I get to be, like, you know, a cool girl going to see our president, maybe.

00:45:40 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Can I tell you that that is, like, such an awesome thing to be able to do? It's so cool to be able to go, A, on a vacation to the nation's capital, but to go on a vacation to the nation's capital and get to see stuff that not everybody gets an opportunity to go through. You're also going to go to the capital, too, right?

00:45:58 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, so Alyssa Slotkin and her peoples got me into the capital as well. So my cousins get to go with me too, and they're really excited. So all three of my cousins, they were not born in the U.S., but they moved here, and they never got to see any U.S. history.

00:46:14 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Wait, tell us, first off, for those that don't know this, you being Chaldean, that means that your family is native from Iraq, right?

00:46:22 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:46:23 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 2:

And your friends are also?

00:46:25 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 1:

My cousins are.

00:46:26 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 2:

Your cousins?

00:46:26 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they were all born in Iraq.

00:46:28 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 2:

And so here they are. They are now American citizens that were not born here, but they are going to get the chance to see what the American dream is all about by going to D.C.

00:46:38 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So out of the four of us, I was the only one born here. So I took on the role of, you know, showing them around D.C., you know, they're U.S. citizens now.

00:46:46 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 2:

Guys, this is exactly what the 4th of July is all about. I don't know if you ever see what our forefathers thought of. Our forefathers thought of this exact same thing. They thought of this, that this was obviously your house. This was your capital. I don't know why I'm doing this whole thing right now. I'm looking for, what is that? Who's the guy that sings that song? And I'm proud to be an American. Yeah, where is that song at right now? Hold on a second. I think I might have it right here. Here we go. Let it go. Lee Greenwood. Yes.

00:47:19 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 3:

I always cry when I hear this song. Really?

00:47:21 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 2:

I apologize. I tried to find it, but I couldn't find it in the system. What a stupid son of a bitch. I'm sorry, I apologize This is for Lydia

00:47:30 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd work for all my life

00:47:36 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 2:

Do you think Lydia should steal something for us from there? Like to give away on the air when she comes back? Wow, I like that Maybe we can auction it off for breaking it in her

00:47:45 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 1:

What do we think that I could get away with out of the White House?

00:47:48 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 2:

Like toilet paper that has the emblem, the presidential emblem on it

00:47:53 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

00:47:54 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 2:

That would be a proud American moment right there, stealing some things from somebody's home. That's a good question. Here's a question I'm going to ask. Did you ever have anybody come visit your home and steal something from you? Will you call us up at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548? What did they steal from you that could give us an idea of what Lydia could take from the White House?

00:48:22 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine me walking out with the toilet paper hanging out of my pants?

00:48:27 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 2:

Ari, what's going on?

00:48:29 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, guys. I just wanted to say that, Lydia, your determination is by far unmatched, and that's how you get what you want, girl. Oh, thank you, Ari.

00:48:38 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 1:

It was all Mojo, Martin, and Sharky, but thank you so much. I really was determined.

00:48:43 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was honestly Martin and Sharky. Those guys are the greatest. Yeah, good to the community and good for our area here. What's up, Tina?

00:48:52 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Mojo. Two days in a row. This is crazy.

00:48:54 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow, you got through. Oh, that's right. I forgot. We talked to you early on the show.

00:48:58 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. Well, I texted, and then KP called me. Okay. Because I think y'all should make up a White House bingo sheet for Lydia to fill out when she goes to the White House.

00:49:08 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's a great idea, like, where we give her points for things, something that she can get, and we'll see how many points that she can get. Yeah. Like, even pictures would be good. She doesn't have to take things, but a picture in front of a dead president, so you've got to get a picture in front of somebody that's dead. We'll do that as one.

00:49:24 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 3:

George Washington's teeth.

00:49:26 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 2:

George Washington's teeth. Okay. What about ... What about ... Oh, if you get anything with ... Yes, the dishes. Anything with a presidential logo on, okay? I like that. Gets points. It's like with an eagle. I feel like there's got to be an eagle somewhere in there.

00:49:47 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 1:

You gotta take a picture of yourself Sniffing the roses I'll be doing a lot of rose sniffing

00:49:54 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 2:

How about a picture next to A secret service agent

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Do they take selfies

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Maybe you might be able to get him to do it. What else could we do? Oh.

00:50:07 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 3:

The White House dog. Pat the dog.

00:50:09 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's right.

00:50:11 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait. He bit somebody, didn't he? I forgot. Yeah, he did. He did. One of them did. Wait, that's 1,000 points. He didn't bite me.

00:50:19 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 4:

These are all honestly cool things. There's definitely things that we can pull up. And by the way.

00:50:24 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I got a good one.

00:50:25 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:50:25 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 2:

You have to be in the background for like one of the networks that are doing their broadcast with their senior White House correspondents right there. Oh, my gosh. Do you know what I mean? Those press conferences. That would have been so fun to stand at that podium. If you can be behind... Stand behind Miguel Amagur.

00:50:40 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 4:

No, you've got to be behind the stupid son of a bitch, Peter Doocy. The stupid son of a bitch. Yeah. If you can get behind him, you get yourself... That will be award-winning right there. Get him to actually give a shout-out and say, I'm the stupid son of a bitch. What's up, Chris? How you doing?

00:50:55 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, everybody. everybody um my friend didn't he didn't steal it but uh he was given a uh business card holder from uh from camp david by by secret service wow that's cool that's very cool he's yeah he is the uh he was installing carpet at uh at camp david and um and it was a little memento um he's he's the one we spoke years ago he's the one that got me hooked up with uh chef robert uh restaurant

00:51:23 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 4:

impossible oh okay back in the day yeah he called us up and told us about that i don't remember it but i'm pretending uh thank you for the call andrew what's going on hey what's going on mojo how you doing good and yourself fantastic you have an idea for uh some point uh that lydia

00:51:42 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

could get if she does something a task that she could do yeah absolutely and i think it would be a nice thing to brag to all your friends, take a

00:51:51 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 4:

poop there. Oh my god. If you could... Duty! That would be like the greatest thing ever. To be able to be in there. I don't think they let you. Really? Yeah, because I hate to be a bragger. I don't want to brag. But I'm kind of a big deal. I don't know if you know this, Andrew. But I took my family to the White House. And I will tell you, I was a tad disappointed when I went. Because they have a... You only get to go to the wing that usually is thrown for parties and things like that. And it's cool to walk up there and you walk into the door. I think I might even have some pictures of it to show you. But I don't think they let you use a bathroom at the White House unless you seriously, yeah.

00:52:33 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 1:

5,000 points for taking a dump on the White House floor. You have to. You have to.

00:52:38 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 4:

There's us as a family, like, walking up to the, here.

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's cool. That's really cool. There's waves.

00:52:43 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 4:

There we are walking right there. That's awesome. And in mine, by the way, it was Gary Peters, Senator Peters, who's a great guy, got us in. And I will never forget that the biggest thing that he told me ahead of time was, don't make me look bad. That was his deal. They don't let you use the bathroom? I don't believe that we were allowed to ever use the bathroom.

00:53:08 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm holding in. I'll just say, I really have to go. Please, please, please.

00:53:12 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 4:

Or how about this? We'll give you points if you doody your pants while you're in the White House. Make a doody. You know, if you do that, that might be a winner right there. All right, Shannon, what you got trending in this hour?

00:53:27 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's start with this. Madonna was battling a low-grade fever for over a month before her body just could no longer take it. And that is why she collapsed and was admitted into the ICU earlier this week. Lots of people worried about Madonna Sources tell me that she pretty much ignored her symptoms Never went to get checked out or treated by a doctor Because she was so focused on rehearsing for this upcoming tour And this is something that I keep hearing from everybody I talk to about this She was literally, what do they call it? Burning the candle at both ends Like 24 hours a day, 7 days a week I mean, she cares about nothing else right now Including her health, only this tour

00:54:04 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, the price of those tickets, I understand

00:54:07 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, and here's what

00:54:08 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 4:

She was charging 500 bucks a seat

00:54:10 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, here's what's worrying people, though. So she was discharged Wednesday night, so she's no longer in the ICU. She is recovering at her home in New York City right now. But I'm hearing that she's too sick to get out of bed. She's vomiting uncontrollably, like all of the time. But her doctors and those around her are really worried she's going to go against doctor's orders to just rest. And she's going to push and push and push to rehearse so that she can go on this tour as soon as possible. Friends are telling me it may take her months to recover from this infection.

00:54:43 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 4:

And I am the material girl. I'm sorry. That's good? That's good.

00:54:47 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 2:

Earlier this month, Tick and Chain, Raising Cane's announced a campaign of four limited edition cuts featuring Post Malone's likeness that will drop every couple of weeks over the course of the summer. The first batch debuted. last week and the already very limited supply of cups got even smaller courtesy of a robbery at a Raising Cane's location in Houston. The heist unfolded at a store located in the Galleria Mall. A police report was filed listing a number of items stolen with an estimated worth of $6,150 including 249 posty cups. And here's the thing, they stole them and whomever stole them put them up for sale on ebay big dummies so they started the bidding at 20 bucks so it's going to be pretty easy i think to go back and trace why wouldn't you just like scan them all and see if you got the tickets yeah i don't know like what a weird or maybe maybe this person did and the ones that are up for sale i don't know you know it's amazing you know what i mean yeah remember

00:55:51 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 5:

all the the thefts that happened to mcdonald's when they had the monopoly pieces and stuff and

00:55:55 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 3:

And we all know what that was about. I was going to say, did you guys watch that documentary? It was great.

00:56:01 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I hate to say this, but before they start changing out all the Starbucks straws, I want every single one of those Starbucks straws because I love those straws so much. Those in the McDonald's straws, those plastic straws, before they make them paper and they disintegrate while you're drinking it.

00:56:18 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 3:

Just make the lids that you can drink. I agree. I don't need any straws. Paper straws are cute, but they're garbage.

00:56:24 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. No offense to all the turtles that are killed, but drinking a McDonald's Coke from the lid would not taste the same. It's the carbonation sugar mix of that straw coming up the straw when I'm sucking it.

00:56:40 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 3:

Which, by the way, if you've ever had a Sprite through a straw from one of those from McDonald's, you just know that carbonation gives you the instant hiccups. It's the worst. We don't need straws.

00:56:49 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 5:

If it were up to Megan, my whole childhood would be completely erased because she doesn't like me enjoying my straws.

00:56:58 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, the Florida sheriff's deputy who hid during the 2018 Parkland school shooting, remember that story, was found not guilty of neglect and negligence. Former Broward County Deputy Scott Peterson cried as the verdicts were read after the jury deliberated for 19 hours over four days.

00:57:18 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 1:

State of Florida plaintiff versus Scott Peterson, defendant, verdict, count one. We, the jury, find as follows as to the defendant in this case. The defendant is not guilty. So say we all this 29th day of June 2023.

00:57:31 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 2:

This was the first trial in U.S. history of a law enforcement officer for conduct during an on-campus suiting. The campus deputy had been charged with failing to confront the shooter during that attack at the school that left 17 people dead after a court adjourned. The deputy, his family, and friends rushed into this big group hug. he could have received nearly 100 years in prison.

00:57:51 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 5:

He asked to speak to the family members, and they all said what I knew that they were going to say, which was, we want nothing to do with you. And one dad said, if you can bring my daughter back, I will speak to you. But until then, I don't want to speak to you. Yeah.

00:58:05 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 2:

It was recently announced that Ryan Seacrest is going to be replacing Pat Sajak as the host of Wheel of Fortune when Pat retires next year. And I love when the internet does this. Fans somehow remembered and dug up a 2012 Wheel episode in which Pat Sajak actually talks about Ryan Seacrest replacing him. 2012. Listen to that.

00:58:32 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, you've spun the wheel and you have to ask for a consonant. Oh, you're on a free play. You know what? I'm an idiot. Yeah. Ian! I'm not sure. Let's look. Yeah, there's Ryan. Check out that trick. Rod Seacrest is on speed dial.

00:58:49 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that funny? Wow. How does somebody remember that?

00:58:51 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. You know what? It's like the people that always know The Simpsons, right? Yes. Or come up with the stuff? Yeah. Yes.

00:58:58 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi, guys. Ryan Seacrest here with some very exciting news. This is Wheel of Fortune.

00:59:08 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 5:

That's what it's going to sound like. It's going to be good, man. I know you don't like it, Megan, but I think you're going to end up loving it. Yeah.

00:59:14 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 3:

I didn't like the show before. I'm not going to like it in the future. Come on. Blasphemy. Wheel of Fortune is not that good.

00:59:21 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 5:

It's the only show that I actually can get every now and again.

00:59:23 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel smart. We all know Jeopardy is the best one out of the old people's hour. Suicide.

00:59:29 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 5:

Price is right. Snob.

00:59:30 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, are we including daytime shows? You said, oh, yeah. Yeah, Price is right.

00:59:34 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 5:

Price is right is the best.

00:59:35 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 3:

Wheel of Fortune is not that good.

00:59:37 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 5:

Ah. I put Jeopardy above it. I agree with you there. Although, don't you watch Jeopardy when you see these people getting all these answers right? You just sit there and feel dumb? Because I feel dumb.

00:59:48 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 3:

There are episodes where I'm like, oh my God, I want to be the champion. And there are other episodes where I would not get a single question right the whole time.

00:59:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

You guys are sleeping on Family Fair. I'm just going to throw that out there. What is that?

00:59:59 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 3:

What's Family Fair? A family feud, I'm sorry.

01:00:01 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Okay, all right.

01:00:03 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 3:

Mike, the joke just fell flat just off of that one. Mike. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page.

01:00:09 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, reverse it.

01:00:11 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 1:

Reverse it.

01:00:13 - 01:00:14 | Unknown:

Let's go.

01:00:14 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 1:

Get more Dirt at Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:00:21 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 3:

Yesterday I had something happen to me. So you guys tell me if I was potentially getting scammed. It's been so crazy out with this smoke and stuff from the Canadian wildfires that I'm checking out all of the air off in the distance as I'm driving down Northwestern Highway. And I pull off to go get myself something to drink. And when I pull off to the side, I see a woman that is standing right on the front of this bunch of stores that are there. and she's holding the sign basically saying that she's homeless and she's looking for food. And I started thinking to myself, I'm like, this is awful. That, you know, there are people that are obviously homeless but also people that have to be outside all day in this stuff. And I know there's a lot of people that are out working in this stuff but there's also then you've got to think about the people that are living on the streets. So I stop and I'm like, you know what, I'm going to give her something because a lot of times these restaurants that are all there won't let you come in unless you buy something. So I figured, you know what, I'll give her some money. So I gave her $10 and said to her, I said, hey, you should go inside. You should go get yourself something to drink. She then pulls out of her pocket, looked like maybe half a dozen or so Starbucks cards, and says, would you like to buy some of these Starbucks cards for me at a discounted rate? And she had Starbucks cards there. So I said to her, I go, no, you know, I just had the $10. And then I went, ended up going. There's a Starbucks that's right there. I ended up going to Starbucks and got my drink and then drove through and waved her on my way out. And she was very friendly. But I started thinking to myself, I just paid full price. Should I have gotten a discounted card? What do you mean? Well, she had a said discounted rate. I don't know what she was going to sell them to me for. I should have asked her. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not even smart enough to do it. And then I started thinking to myself Well maybe it's not a good idea for me to do it Because I'm thinking If I buy it It may not have anything on it

01:02:29 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 4:

Well that's right You made a donation to her

01:02:32 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 3:

Right But I'm not even worried about the donation now I'm just thinking about the Starbucks card the entire time At first I was thinking about her getting out of the smog And the fog and the smoke and all that stuff Then I started thinking to myself I'm going Crap I wonder if those Starbucks cards are really legit Does anybody, any of our listeners Know, is this like a scam or something That I was going to be falling victim of Because you can take the cards Or legitimately, yeah I know I could take the cards But how do I know there's something on the cards

01:03:00 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 4:

No, that's what I'm saying, you could just go into a Starbucks Like, Smith's done it before Where he's just taken a card And we didn't load anything on it, you know So it wasn't whatever, but I'm like, oh You can't do that But, you know, there's zero dollars on there

01:03:14 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 2:

That's what I think happened to you I think maybe she just grabbed, because you can get them from anywhere. You can get them from the grocery store now.

01:03:20 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 3:

Is it illegal to sell cards that don't have anything on them? I don't know. I don't know if this is a new scam. Has anybody ever fallen for something like this, like a scam like this? I feel like those kids that are on the sides of the road selling those candy bars that are for their basketball team to go to New Jersey for some tournament or something like that, they're all selling M&Ms and Snickers bars and all the rest of that stuff. But is that a scam? I don't know if these kids are really kids that are playing basketball, and I also want to know, how are they making money then?

01:03:51 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, if you don't have your uniform on, I question it.

01:03:54 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah?

01:03:55 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

I've seen kids out there, like, in full uniform, and I'm like, okay, you're absolutely doing

01:04:00 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 3:

it. I mean, that's like dedication. You got the uniform.

01:04:03 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 4:

But in that situation, you're getting something tangible for your donation. Yes. You just don't know if the donation is going to where they say it's going.

01:04:11 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 3:

But maybe it's a fake candy bar or something. I don't know. Come on. Like, I honestly, I look at these, I look at this stuff sometimes and I go, okay, where's the, where's the hook here?

01:04:19 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 4:

Didn't you fall for the, the magazine people?

01:04:22 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah. I had these, Kev, you weren't here telling the story back in the day, but Mike and Megan and Shannon, you guys got to remember this. When the guy came and he was going to sell me all these magazines. First off, nobody reads magazines anymore. What year is this? That's my first question. It was, all right. It was at the time when we still were kind of reading magazines, but even now I like to have it if I'm on the toilet, you know what I mean? Like, I like to have it in my hand. I got tricked into those coupons, the tropical smoothie coupons. Right. So, well, I ended up ordering, Mike, I ordered Sports Illustrated, Us Weekly, People, and I think I even got Chelsea of one of the rag mags.

01:05:00 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 1:

You'd turn it to the old dentist office I used to do. But I ended up ordering from this guy a ton of these magazines and did this whole thing where you pay up front, and when you pay up front, you get a discount. The Tropical Smoothie one, did you go to Tropical Smoothie and did they give you anything?

01:05:16 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 2:

You get deals on smoothies or whatever, but it's hard to say no to those kids. It's hard to say no when a kid comes to your door and gives you the whole spiel about how it's for his team and he's really into baseball and yada, yada, yada. And you've got your kids standing right behind you who are going to do this someday. And you're like, okay, I'll buy the $50 magazine. The two cords of firewood. Oh, yeah, that's right. You got it. I got it. I got it.

01:05:44 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 1:

Augustus Gloop. Augustus Gloop. Two months later, but I got it. The kid who looked like the kid from The Wizard of Oz. Not The Wizard of Oz. Oh, my God.

01:05:51 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Billy Wanda.

01:05:52 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 1:

You're ruining my childhood. The kid from Harry Potter. Well, you already ruined mine, so back at you. What's up, Ryan? How you doing?

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Good, how are you?

01:06:01 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 1:

Good, what's going on?

01:06:02 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 3:

I was just making a comment. She was probably getting donated those gift cards from people that want to help her out but don't get cash. Oh, that's a good point. She ends up selling them because she wants the cash.

01:06:15 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that might be the smartest thing ever. I probably should have then bought it, right? I would have gotten a better deal on the thing.

01:06:22 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 3:

I mean, either way, you're going to give her the $10. So if it had money on it, it shouldn't have been it.

01:06:28 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, notice I gave her the $10 first, and then she asked me if I wanted to buy them afterwards. So I should have. Would that have been bad of me to say, well, hold on. Let me buy it with the money I just gave you and see what kind of a conversation that we get into.

01:06:42 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you have all the bargaining power right there, so you could have.

01:06:46 - 01:06:54 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't because I gave her the money already. I already put it in her hand. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. Mojo in the morning, what's going on, Amber?

01:06:56 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, nothing. Just on my way into work.

01:06:58 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah? What's happening? What can we do for you?

01:07:01 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I just made a comment. Don't buy them unless you can, you know, if they have a receipt there with a balance on it or they let you check it, then you can go ahead and buy them.

01:07:09 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I should have said, all right, you come with me into the drive-thru. We'll go through the drive-thru together, and if it's got exactly the money you say on there, then I'll give you the money. Otherwise, we're not doing this thing.

01:07:19 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 4:

And you only buy them if they sell them half off. that's what she was trying to do that's what she was trying to do is it bad wait is it bad to

01:07:27 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 1:

negotiate though with a homeless person like i i feel like karma is going to bite me in the ass if i do that no you'll be okay so joe my son joe says that out in front of their walmart's uh i'm sorry home depots and lowe's down in tampa they have people that are just looking to earn some money for the day and he said that they'll hold a sign saying I'll work for the day and they'll come work for you because there's a lot of construction people that will work. So Jed had to do work around his dad's house. You remember Jed and Joe and Ashley and those guys? Jed had to do some yard work so Jed went to the Home Depot, drove a guy from there to work with him for a day to do some work around his house and then took him back to the Home Depot and and did it afterwards no he did not he did and he said it was the most unbelievable thing ever and and i think i remember this vaguely back in the day when i lived in arizona and it was kind of like that where you would see people that would just be hanging out at those stores waiting for somebody to grab you know a little labor that day that's the beginning of a dacu series where

01:08:42 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 2:

A murderer has taken place

01:08:44 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 1:

But the funniest is Could you imagine the guy in the car With Jed the entire time Having to listen to Nickelback That poor guy Can I go back

01:08:55 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 4:

And him talking about Popeye and Nancy Popeye and Nancy

01:09:01 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 1:

You're gonna The funny thing was Jed's dad Actually went back to the ring cam And was like who's the guy

01:09:08 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god

01:09:11 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 1:

But is that the most genius thing ever? Think about this. If you're a kid that has to do chores for your parents, if you can actually have somebody help you do those chores, you'd do it in a second. The smartest thing ever. The cloud of smoke is in my car, but now this outside smoke is nasty. This is Mojo in the Morning. Throwback throwdown is coming up here in just moments. Oh, big old slam to say. Throwback throwdown is coming up here in moments. Boom. Slam that door. What is this? What's that? I just got a delivery, by the way. Oh, are we on the air still? 01:09:55 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Are they selling coupons, too? They have to be half off, according to that lady.

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 1:

Ask them Who is it again? What's the name of the place?

01:10:03 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

He ended up getting us Taylor Swift tickets. Tony's our big boss. Well, he told KP, because he knows that she's a huge Morgan Wallen fan, that he would get her Morgan Wallen tickets so she can go to both nights of the show because she already bought tickets to one night of the show. Well, Tony said, I will give you tickets to the show on one condition. You can't come in on Friday morning because I've heard this before from you guys and you specifically. and be exhausted and tired and useless on the show. And what did you just do?

01:11:34 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I won't bring pastries anymore.

01:11:36 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second.

01:11:37 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

What if you're useless on the show, but you didn't go to the concert last night? Well, then you can still be up for this. Does that work for me?

01:11:43 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Hold on. I'm calling Tony to inform him that you are now on suspension for free tickets. He's taking the day off today.

01:11:55 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 2:

Why are you bothering him?

01:11:57 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 1:

Hello. Hey, TT.

01:11:59 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 2:

Yo.

01:12:00 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Remember the stipulation that KP will no longer get tickets from you if she ever comes in on the show and is a little too tired to do her job?

01:12:10 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:12:12 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 1:

No tickets for KP anymore. She is suspended from ever getting tickets from you anymore, okay? But she didn't go last night. Well, she says she didn't go last night, But just a second ago while I was live on the radio She brought in a dozen donuts for me While I'm in the middle of a break I know she was there at that concert And she's lying to us

01:12:35 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 3:

I was not at the concert I was up watching TikToks with my gram I do admit I was up late

Dustin, your choices. Shannon, Megan, Mike, or Kev? I'd choose Kevin.

01:13:52 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Let's go. Dirty D.

01:13:54 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm coming back at myself.

01:13:56 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 2:

That's my nickname. I've gone by that for years. Felt it.

01:14:00 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 1:

Your nickname is Dirty D?

01:14:02 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Actually, I've gone by that for years.

01:14:04 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Well, you don't think so? You would not like a guy with a nickname of Dirty D?

01:14:09 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't think anybody likes a Dirty D. I'm going on a limb.

01:14:15 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 1:

A man?

01:14:15 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 2:

My nickname is Dirty D, actually, is because I'm a mechanic.

01:14:19 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:14:20 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Sure, sure, sure, sure. We're going to clean up today.

01:14:22 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 1:

But as D is clean, Amanda, your choices now are the rest of these guys. Shannon, Megan, and Mike.

01:14:32 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. I am going to go with Mike.

01:14:35 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 1:

Mike, yes.

01:14:36 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 2:

Solid pick. I'm playing for America today. If you're watching on TikTok Live or if you see this video later, I got the full American flag.

01:14:43 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Whoa, look at you. Oh, yeah. You are proud to be an American. Look at that guy. There's nobody better than that. You have more. Where do you keep all these outfits? Like, does Allie ever say to you, you have your own little fun game area?

01:15:00 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 2:

She, I think she hid this one. This one I found in the basement.

01:15:03 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Tell her you cannot do that. You cannot. That's the American flag right there. That happens, though. Chelsea, the women are still on the board. Shannon or Megan?

01:15:13 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to miss Megan. Hi, Chelsea.

01:15:17 - 01:15:17 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:15:18 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 3:

That means that Delvina, you've got Shannon.

01:15:22 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Delvina. Hi, Shannon.

01:15:26 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 3:

Nice to have you, Delvina, on the show with us. All right, here we go, guys. First to three, your name is your buzzer, title and artist of the songs, throwback throwdown. First song in the Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown for this week is Kevin. Kevin.

01:15:44 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 4:

That's tag team. There it is.

01:15:47 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Correct answer. Kev's son is in studio with us this morning. He's coaching me. Josiah, he's looking at his dad like, Dad, you're embarrassing me. I don't care how cool you are, but you are embarrassing me. Even a cool dad like Kev can embarrass his kids. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throw Back, Throw Down. Title and artist, please, is... Kevin. Kevin.

01:16:33 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 4:

That is Rihanna, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Run this time.

01:16:39 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 3:

Correct answer.

01:16:42 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm so good. What's that? Red flag. A break. Red flag. Red, white, and blue. Oh, I said Mike way before he said Kev. Again, Mike? Again? Mike, no, he was first. I saw it in the video.

01:16:57 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. I did not even hear Mike's name.

01:17:00 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 2:

I didn't either hear Mike's name. I didn't hear Mike's name at all. I didn't hear your name at all. No, not even at all.

01:17:07 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 3:

How are you not hearing me? I don't know. I did not hear you even say your name. I think you might have said it a little lighter. I got you potted up high, too. All right. All right, this could be a short game, short-lived game. Could be as short as the fireworks display that most people are going to be having because they don't want you to have fireworks displays this year because of the smokiness in the air. What do you got for a score?

01:17:29 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 1:

We got Kevin in the lead with two.

01:17:32 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

Nobody else has any points. Everybody else. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback Throwdown, title and artist is...

01:17:42 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 1:

Everybody gets high sometimes, you know. Shannon.

01:17:45 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Shannon.

01:17:46 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 1:

01:17:48 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Oh. Sorry. Oh, it's fine. I apologize. I see Harvey.

01:17:51 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 1:

What else can we do when we're feeling low? So take a deep breath and let it go.

01:18:00 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, Shannon. That's okay.

01:18:01 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 1:

I tried to beat Kevin. And if you feel you're sinking, I will jump right over into cold, cold water for you. And all the time may take us into different places I will still be patient with you And I hope you know

01:18:28 - 01:18:30 | Unknown:

I won't let go

01:18:30 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 4:

Kevin.

01:18:30 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, for the win.

01:18:32 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 4:

Justin Bieber, Won't Let Go.

01:18:37 - 01:18:40 | Unknown:

I'll be your love, it's mine.

01:18:40 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 3:

Anybody else? Megan, Mike?

01:18:42 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 1:

There's somebody else on there, isn't there?

01:18:44 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 3:

You need me to tell you that?

01:18:48 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because I'm really bad at this game

01:18:50 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 2:

I would be cheating if I did that Mike, Skrillex, Justin Bieber, Won't Let Go Oh, bother, no Megan

01:18:58 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 1:

Is it David Guetta?

01:19:00 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 3:

No Okay It is Major Lazer and Justin Bieber No, nobody gets that one. Throw that one out. Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown. Kev again can win this thing. The song is...

01:19:32 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 2:

Mike. Mike, I believe, was on there first. It was Mike. Mike. It is Fetty Wap 679. Buzzer. Wait.

01:19:42 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 4:

Baby girl, you're so fine

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

Can we know what Mike's in? No.

01:20:06 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 4:

You have to listen. You gotta pay attention.

01:20:09 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 2:

01:20:20 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 6:

Wonder when she'll be mine. Man, what is this song called? One more time. Then I got the soda.

01:20:30 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 2:

You guys just missed it.

01:20:38 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

Nobody's going to get it.

01:20:39 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Tell me what you see. Is it money or it's me? I smoke 20, smell the well. I got honey. I'm so mad at it.

01:20:50 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm throwing this song out in about five seconds if you guys don't get it. Come on.

01:20:54 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 2:

I used to drink too much hypnotic when this song came on, so there's no way I'm going to get it. Mike was so close, though.

01:21:01 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 4:

No, nobody gets it. Megan. Megan.

01:21:04 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 5:

01:21:34 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. We are going to be hanging out tonight as a show. We'll be in Toledo. And we're very, very excited over the fact that we're going to be helping out a great cause. We're going to be then not only feeding people, but feeding ourselves, too, because I'm really hoping that Megan finds a really good place for us to go eat. Did you?

01:25:41 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 2:

I actually, it's so funny that you bring this up because we are going out to eat everybody but you. So. Why? Made a reservation. Well, good. I missed, I'm just a dumb girl. I don't know how to count. That's okay. I'm quite short.

01:25:57 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

I'll go home early.

01:25:57 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 2:

We voted you off the island.

01:25:59 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

Let me plug Feed, then I'll eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at Feed Toledo.

01:26:03 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 2:

I believe it's Food for Thought. Food for Thought. Is that correct, Lydia? Is it Food for Thought and then the project we're doing is Feed Toledo, but the organization is Food for Thought?

01:26:12 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 1:

Is Megan choosing? Yeah, let's have some listeners come by and say hi. Maybe people will, maybe...

01:26:57 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, we might be sitting on the patio. I'm not sure what the weather's going to be like. But we're going to be at Pocopiotti in Huntsville.

01:27:04 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 1:

Tell me about it. What kind of food do they serve? It's tapas.

01:27:07 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Like a Mediterranean tapas. Oh, God, you're about to hear him complain. Oh, small plates?

01:27:12 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm a big man. I can't eat small plates. Do they have large plates, too?

01:27:16 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 2:

I literally went for the place that had the most food for your food restrictions, and now you're going to bitch?

01:27:21 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Okay, what's the breakfast place that you've taken me to that's the only place I've ever had gluten-free chicken and walnuts?

01:27:29 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 2:

Fowl and fodder. We do love fowl and fodder over here. Can't we just go have breakfast for dinner? I don't know how late downtown fowl and fodder is. Do you want me to change it?

01:27:37 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 1:

No, that's okay. I just want to go see Scott Mick's house. That's all I'm caring about.

01:27:41 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 2:

You're doing that.

01:27:42 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 1:

So Scott Mick, Megan's dad, the legendary Scott Mick, has always been one of those people that I've envied over the years because he's got a daughter that's like megan right we all love how how uh megan is no actually i envy him because he's he's a single guy and he lives in a downtown high rise tell me that as a as you know a grown-ass human being you wouldn't want to be a single guy that lives in a in a high rise like that i mean it is a really nice place i did look it up i'm

01:28:14 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 2:

sorry follow him fatter close to that 3 p.m you're stuck okay all right that's all right then i'm

01:28:18 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 1:

And he'd tapas. But to go back to your dad, though, for one second.

01:28:24 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:28:25 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 1:

Your dad is living the life of every man that has ever raised their child. Every guy who has ever gotten a kid out of the house or a couple kids out of the house, in your dad's case, he lives in a high-rise. He's got a girlfriend. He's, you know, sexy, skinny now. He's lost weight. This guy, he's unbelievable. He's my idol right now.

01:28:47 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 2:

The thing is, I totally forgot about this. I have to get there before you guys so I can take down all of the embarrassing things about myself in his apartment.

01:28:55 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, your dad in his single bachelor pad has a bunch of things about you hanging up?

01:28:59 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 2:

Of course he does. I'm the favorite. This place is absolutely decorated with photos of myself that I hung up.

01:29:09 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 1:

He hasn't taken those down since he started dating this new girlfriend of his?

01:29:14 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 2:

No, surprisingly not. I think it's a little bit of a warning. Like, hey, you better back off. It's my money that I'm after. No, I think it's going to be funny that you're going to see a lot of childhood photos. But, yeah, Scott, make us a party apartment. He's also going to be the place to be tomorrow night as well because tomorrow night is the fireworks in downtown Toledo. Oh, perfect. Once you see his view, I'll show you where the fireworks go off.

01:29:39 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

I might stay.

01:29:40 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you, it's going to be the place to be.

01:29:43 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Would it be weird if I asked your dad if I can pack a bag and spend the night and have a sleepover?

01:29:48 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 2:

I have 1,000% guarantee if you asked, he would say, would you please stay?

01:29:53 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Really? My dad loves you. So can I say something about Scott Mack? I'm not allowed to have his...

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 2:

phone number because Megan will not share with me his phone number.

01:30:03 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes, because my dad's obsessed with Mojo. My dad loves Mojo.

01:30:08 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 2:

I have Shannon's dad, Tim Murphy's number and actually to be honest with you, Tim Murphy and I are obsessed with each other too. We talk from time to time. KP's mom, I think I've got her number in my phone. I got that number. Lydia's mom. Lydia, your mom and I text all the time. Why is it that I can't have Scott Mixon's number?

01:30:26 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 4:

Because I don't trust the two of you together because I think both of you would talk so much smack about me behind my back. I can't mentally handle it. My dad takes every opportunity to drag me down, and I don't need the two of you ganging up on me.

01:30:40 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 2:

I seriously, tonight I'm going to pull him aside, and I wish I don't, I can't spend the night because we got something tomorrow morning that I got to go to.

01:30:49 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, darn.

01:30:51 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 2:

We got more grad parties and stuff, but I will say this. I think that I might ask him for his phone number, and I might actually see if there's any way that Chelsea and I, maybe tomorrow we can drive right back down

01:31:03 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 4:

and go to the fireworks. He would love it. He's having a party. There's going to be like 30 people. I'm sure you would be invited. Anybody on the show. Don't do this. Don't do this.

01:31:14 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to ask Scott Mick. This would be my opportunity. I haven't asked for a phone number in a long time. Let me see if he's got like a little cocktail napkin. Remember back in the day, we'd be at a bar. You guys don't remember this because you guys are too young. Now you just throw it right in your phones. But back in the day, you'd have to write numbers down And you'd put them on the little cocktail napkins

01:31:32 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 1:

In the olden days

01:31:32 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

And then I would go home at the end of the night And I'd put everything out of my pockets And out of my pockets would be like a scrunched up thing And I'd have the cocktail napkin with a phone number on it And a cocktail napkin with my snot boogers on it And I'd have to figure out exactly which one it is

01:31:47 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 1:

Toledo, everybody in Toledo

01:31:54 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 2:

We will be in your hearts tonight Please join us. What was he saying?

01:31:59 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 4:

He's so stressed about tonight. He's like, I need to know what everybody wants to drink. I want everybody to feel comfortable. What kind of snacks can I get? He's so excited for you guys to come over.

01:32:09 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Scott Mick.

01:32:11 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 4:

And I'm excited that it's not my place, so.

01:32:16 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 2:

You'll be in my heart tonight, Scott Mick.

01:32:19 - 01:32:22 | Unknown:

You'll be in my heart.

01:32:22 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Listeners are asking, hey, you just gave out the information of where you guys are eating tonight, can you give out Scott Mick's apartment number?

01:32:29 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 1:

Don't you dare. Don't you dare. Project X, baby. What would you do? Can you imagine tomorrow night if Scott Mick had like a rager going on? Let's do it. For the fireworks?

01:32:40 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 5:

A line to get in, your name on a list.

01:32:43 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 2:

He would be into it, too. I could totally see that. Oh, God, this is going to be fun. Actually, you know what? I'm going to give out Scott Sands' address.

01:32:52 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, do that. But his building is way easier to break into.

01:32:56 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 2:

All right, real quick. We have contestants that are here for our Morgan Walmart contest. We're going to do that coming up here in a second. And we'll do it on Facebook Live. So get ready for that. And then we'll pick a winner for who's going to see Morgan Wallen. Right now, though, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Win tickets to see Ed Sheeran, 95th caller. Good luck.

01:33:16 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:33:19 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:33:21 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 5:

Big, big update this morning. Travis Scott will not face criminal charges for the Astroworld tragedy. Grand Dury met yesterday to decide whether the rapper should be prosecuted for continuing to perform at the 2021 festival. There was thousands of people in the crowd. There was a big stampede toward the stage causing 10 people to die and leaving many others injured. And, you know, Travis has maintained from the beginning of this thing that he had no idea that was happening in the crowd. points to the fact that many police officers in the crowd who were responsible for the safety of the fans were kind of clueless that something was happening as well. But that was the reason that they were there, was to provide safety for all of the fans. Travis's rep saying, now that this chapter is closed, we hope for the government efforts to focus on what is most important, and that is stopping future heartbreaking tragedies like Astroworld from ever occurring again. Kelsey Ballerini, country singer, Hit in the face this week during her show in Idaho. I mean, how many instances of this happening have we heard about over the past week? Looked like a bracelet or a necklace or something that a fan threw. Hit her right in the eye. She clutched the area near her eye before running off the stage to get some medical treatment. I mean, clearly something had happened and had injured her. Came back on stage. after a couple of minutes and said this.

01:34:47 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 3:

About what just happens, all I care about is keeping everyone safe. Yes! So if you ever don't feel safe, please let someone around you know their security everywhere tonight. If anyone's pushing too much. Or you just have that gut feeling or anything. Just always flag it. Don't throw things. You know, I always want shows of mine, every show, for every artist. But I'm in control of this one. I just want it to be a safe place for everyone. We have little kids here. And just, can you help me do that?

01:35:17 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 5:

She later assured her fans on social media that she is doing absolutely fine.

01:35:20 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 6:

I think if I was next to somebody that threw something on stage, I would try to find the biggest person next to me that beat their ass. I would probably say Seriously There are moments where a person's ass Just needs to be beat Not arrested Because they go into jail Or they go into lock up And then they let them go Because the courts don't want to deal with stuff Just somebody just beat their ass And prove a point This is where Kev's grandma needs to be there To tell them to go get a switch What would your grandma do If she was at a concert And somebody threw something up on stage She's got this look I hate our listeners can't see it, but she's like five foot even. She balls up her lips really tight, and she puts her fists up, and it's like, She is 92 years old? Yeah, she's strong as hell. She's still strong.

01:36:13 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 5:

Ever since the backlash that Dylan Mulvaney has faced after sharing that social media post featuring Bud Lights, the Bud Light can with her face on it, she says the brand has not reached out to her personally.

01:36:26 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 4:

What transpired from that video was more bullying and transphobia than I could have ever imagined. And I was scared, and I was scared of more backlash, and I felt personally guilty for what transpired. So I patiently waited for things to get better. But surprise, they haven't really. And I was waiting for the brand to reach out to me, but they never did. Wow, that's terrifying.

01:36:51 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, awful. And she said, you know, I did not expect for this to blow up the way that it has. And this can be very, very dangerous for other trans people.

01:37:02 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 4:

For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse, in my opinion, than not hiring a trans person at all. Correct. Because it gives customers permission to be as transphobic and hateful as they want. And the hate doesn't end with me. It has serious and grave consequences for the rest of our community.

01:37:21 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she actually wrote on her social media for months now, I've been scared to leave the house, I've been ridiculed in public, I've been followed, and I have felt a loneliness that I wouldn't wish on anyone. And I'm not telling you this because I want your pity. I'm telling you this because it is my experience from a very privileged perspective, know that it is much, much worse for other trans people.

01:37:39 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 1:

And when people talk about rainbow washing during Pride Month, this is what they mean.

01:37:45 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on NoJuInTheMorning.com.

01:37:50 - 01:37:57 | Speaker 2:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:38:00 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 6:

Last night we let the liquor talk. I can't remember everything. Mojo in the Morning Show. Please welcome in the studio a lot of not Morgan Wallens. Our contestants for Morgan Walmart. Yeah!

01:38:17 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 5:

Okay, wait a minute. It's actually kind of creepy how much some of them look like Morgan Wallen.

01:38:25 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 6:

There are more trucker hats here than are in, I don't know, the Speedway gas station or something right now. You know what it feels like? You remember that VMA performance when Eminem did the real Slim Shadies? Yes. All the Slim Shadies came out. Oh, my God. We got a ton of Morgan Wallens in here. This is incredible. All right, well, you guys, are we on Facebook Live? This is unreal that we've got them all here in the studio with us. And if you want to see all the pictures, go to our Instagram, Facebook, and check them out. We put the montage, and we grabbed the – how many did we grab? The top how many? One, two, three, four, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, something like this. We're within top ten or something like that of the best of the best. And where the heck are these guys from? Let me try to guess your cities, okay? So come up to the microphone and tell us your name, but do not tell us the name of the city that you're from.

01:39:17 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 5:

Gotta talk right now.

01:39:17 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 6:

I will guess your city's name. All right, here we go. Ready? Give me the music for one second. Time now for Where Are the Morgan Wallens From? I'll just try it with the first three. Yes, what is your name?

01:39:35 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 1:

My name's Luke.

01:39:36 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 6:

Luke. This is Luke, everybody. Hi, Luke. How you doing? I'm doing pretty well. How are you? Luke, you are from, well, obviously, I've got to say, you're from Waterford, Michigan. No. No. Where are you from? I'm from Fallerville. Of course, Fallerville. How did I miss out on Fallerville? I was just in Fallerville last weekend. All right.

01:40:00 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 2:

Next contestant, come up to the microphone. What is your name?

01:40:02 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 4:

My name's Caden Horton.

01:40:04 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 2:

You're Caden Horton. Caden Horton, you are from Holly, Michigan. No. No? Jeez. Where are you from?

01:40:13 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm from Adrian, Michigan.

01:40:14 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 2:

Of course you're from Adrian, Michigan. All right. And who's up next here right now? Hey, good morning. I'm sorry, your name is? Matt. Matt. Hi, Matt. How you doing? What's happening? Good morning to you, Matt. You are from the east side of Detroit, Matt. New West. West Side. I was close. No, where are you from? Plymouth. Plymouth. Of course, Plymouth. All right, I'm done with that whole thing. All for three. I'm done. That was bad on that one there. What's going on, guys? How's everybody doing? Hey, did the couple females that entered the contest that kind of look like them, did they come? No? I don't think so. And actually, one of them had legit, real mullet hair.

01:40:52 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 1:

She was great.

01:40:54 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 2:

She was amazing. How many Bass Pro Shop hats do we have out of these guys here? I know we got one over there. Do we have another one? Is there a second one over here?

01:41:01 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 5:

Any Cabela's?

01:41:02 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Mike. Mike, they're representing you today. Have you guys ever seen Mike at the Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's? He's there from time to time.

01:41:11 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 3:

You probably can't see me because I'm wearing camo.

01:41:14 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, have you ever been in a Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's?

01:41:17 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 1:

I have not.

01:41:18 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I'm not going to lie to you because I'm not a Bass Pro Shop or Cabela type of guy. I don't know if you know that, but I'm not a really outdoorsy type of guy.

01:41:25 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

I couldn't tell.

01:41:26 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 2:

I've been in a lot of Lazy Boys stores. But I have not been in a lot of those. But I'm going to say this to you, that when you go inside, it's like a Morgan Wallen look-alike guy's Toys R Us.

01:41:41 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:41:42 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 2:

That's what it is.

01:41:43 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

And guys that look like me. But, yes, there's a lot of, yeah.

01:41:46 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 1:

So if you're single and looking for a country boy, you're saying that's the place to go wander. There you go. And need some help.

01:41:52 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Actually, Mike, which bald wear a hat all the time country artist do you look like? I don't think that's a thing. There's some bald country artists, aren't there? Kenny Chesney was bald, wasn't he? Yeah, but he's not brown. Yeah, you just said bald. I'm just going with bald. Yeah, yeah. All right. So here's the story. We have to pick. We're on Facebook Live. What are people saying on Facebook Live there, KP?

01:42:17 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 5:

They're hyping everybody up to see. We got a lot of family.

01:42:21 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'll get to the microphone. That's okay. That's all right. Here, show them while you're doing it. Here, we'll show them. Here, pass it to me. I'll do it.

01:42:28 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 1:

Give it to me on.

01:42:29 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Or Bianca. Yeah, Bianca, you can do it. Show everybody over there. Oh, the screen's locked. Yeah, can't say the password out loud. Can't do that. No, no. Tell her password out loud. Can't do that. KP, any of these guys attractive to you at all? Because I'm seeing a lot of guys that are country guys. You like tall, skinny. What do you think?

01:42:50 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 5:

I like tall, skinny. Yeah, you guys are pretty cute.

01:42:53 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what do you guys think, huh?

01:42:55 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 5:

Those little dimples. There we go. Look at this guy over here. How many of you are single? Raise your hand.

01:43:00 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh. You got two hands.

01:43:01 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 5:

Two hands. Two. Well, I saw three. Look at that. Very good.

01:43:06 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. KP, what was the question I asked you? I don't even remember what the question was before. There's a cute one.

01:43:13 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the comments. Yes. Everyone's supporting everybody. A lot of family. Everyone's trying to pick out their favorite Morgan Wallen, and we got a couple standouts here, I think. Wait a second.

01:43:23 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 1:

So how are we picking our Morgan Walmart champion?

01:43:26 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Well, the guys have prepared, or should have, at least a minute of some kind of performance. So make us believe that you're really Morgan Wallen.

01:43:34 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 2:

But wait, we can't go through all of them, though, right?

01:43:37 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, whatever you want to do.

01:43:39 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so is there a performance, a singing performance, or is it a dancing around performance?

01:43:44 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 5:

Whatever they choose.

01:43:45 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's the deal. Here's what we're going to do. Each of you guys, one by one, is going to come up to the microphone. All right, you're going to get up towards the microphone. I'll play a little Morgan Wallen for the listeners at home so that they can at least enjoy a little bit of the music. Some might not enjoy it. But you guys do a little dancing on Facebook Live or come up to the microphone, do a little fake lip sync or battle or whatever the heck you got to do, and then we'll pick the winner of who we think is going to win. Are you ready? All right, up to the microphone. Go to the Facebook now. You've got to see it. Go to Facebook Live. Here we go. Come on. Right up here. Hey. Hey.

01:44:20 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hey, good morning, Detroit. Mojo in the morning. This is Morgan Wallen here. Howdy, y'all.

01:44:26 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that was excellent. All right, next contestant. That's not bad. All right, next. Who's next? Come on up. Don't be shy. Come on. Everybody's got their hats backwards.

01:44:36 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 4:

You got a whole minute here?

01:49:36 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 7:

01:49:39 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Brian from Harrison Township.

01:49:41 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 7:

And I don't sing. I don't dance. But, hell, people say that I look like Morgan, so why not? It's funny.

01:49:46 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 6:

I'm looking at it right now, and you look like Morgan Wallen in about 20 years.

01:49:51 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 7:

Morgan Wallen. I'm damn near 40, so I can be these guys' dads.

01:49:55 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 6:

That's great. No, I like it. That's good. And where are you from? Harrison Township. Harrison Township. Thank you for coming.

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 1:

I made the shirt myself

01:50:01 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 3:

Wait, are you going to be really pissed That you cut sleeves off of that good looking shirt

01:50:06 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 2:

No, because I wear this shirt quite a bit

01:50:08 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 3:

Do you really? Good, alright That's cool, well thank you I appreciate it, is that it?

01:50:14 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 5:

There are a couple of you that I can't stop

01:50:16 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this guy doesn't Why do you not want to do it?

01:50:19 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 5:

It's intimidating

01:50:20 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 3:

So here's the thing I'm looking at all these guys Because I had to look at what Morgan Wallen looks like Alright, hold on And the two guys I thought were really good, I think this guy is good right over here with the green. In the backwards hat. Yeah.

01:50:36 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 4:

Backwards hat. Backwards hat.

01:50:38 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 5:

In long hair.

01:50:40 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 4:

That was dumb.

01:50:40 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 3:

That's like saying the white guy. I am dumb.

01:50:43 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 5:

For sure you. And then I want you to pick the other one that I think, too.

01:50:46 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 3:

And I think, I honestly, I do think that the guy that got tagged. Yeah.

01:50:52 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 5:

Wait, is that?

01:50:52 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's the singer. Yeah. That guy. Rob, come on up there. So we got. Same. And a third. Go ahead. Third.

01:50:58 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes. And him. All right. Yeah, that's exactly my three.

01:51:00 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 3:

So those are the three, and I'm looking. Here's a Morgan Wallen, okay? This is Morgan Wallen, and I'm thinking out of the three, my vote, so everybody gets a vote?

01:51:10 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 5:

I get a vote. Sorry. I need to go home. You get a vote. I need to go home. I get a vote. You're blushing, too? No, it's just weird. Like, y'all, it's weird me out.

01:51:20 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 3:

I think the guy in the green hat is the- That's my vote. Okay, so that's Megan, Mike.

01:51:25 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm having a hard time with colors Because I am watching this just on the Facebook live But the guy who was in The red vest I think he was great

01:51:36 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 3:

Alright so red vest guy Mike who do you got Did you say Rob Rob is your vote Yeah I'm going to go with Rob Rob has got the vote Rob the white hat right KP, Lydia and Kev are next up

01:51:55 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 5:

01:51:56 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, so what do we have vote-wise right now? We've got...

01:51:59 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 5:

One, two, two.

01:52:00 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 3:

So one, two, two. So Lydia and KP, you're the last two votes. Let's go Lydia next with the vote. Lydia?

01:52:07 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 4:

01:52:09 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 3:

Red Vest Wow We got a winner Rob's the winner Rob's the winner Congratulations Rob Winner winner Morgan Walling Dinner Good job

01:52:35 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 5:

01:53:01 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Last night we let the liquor talk. I can't remember everything we said, but we said it all. You told me that you wish I was somebody you never met. Oh, baby, baby, something's telling me this ain't no VX. You are Morgan Warren. Morgan Warren.

01:53:22 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 3:

Give it up for this guy. And he dropped the mic. He literally dropped it. Well, it's on a stand. All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. So we're going to do this very tongue-in-cheek-like. So if you call us up, we won't make fun of you at all. In our hearts, we are going to love you and hug you, but we are going to chuckle a little bit with you. Adults who play with toys.

01:53:48 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 5:

And not adult toys.

01:53:50 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 3:

No, not adult toys.

01:53:52 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 5:

Okay. And the reason we came up with this topic was I was catching up with an old radio buddy of mine yesterday. And I know that he gets time off for, you know, the Fourth of July holiday, just like we do. And so I said, Hey, what are you what are you doing for the holiday? Like, what are you doing for your long weekend? What are you doing for vacation? Mind you, he is my age. Okay, I'm 40. So we're the same age. His legit response to me when I asked him that question was, I bought a fire Super Mario Brothers Lego set. And so I'm going to build that. you guys are laughing why are you laughing no i just was i thought he was gonna be like oh i'm gonna go here whatever 40 year old guy i bought a fire super mario brothers like lego

01:54:33 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 1:

set come on and i'm gonna build it i have a iron i love legos i will say i'll be 80 years old and i will love legos i have a iron man uh hand the the the uh infinity stone hand yeah lego set i have a lego guy that looks just like me from a picture of me that i built for father's day i I would build Legos all day with this man.

01:54:53 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

See, I like building Legos with my daughter, but this is like he's a single man.

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 4:

He is a single guy. I did those on my own. I would do it. Yeah, heck yeah.

01:55:05 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 8:

All right. Well, then I'm not going to judge. It caught me off guard.

01:55:08 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 4:

And we're not going to put video game on this, right?

01:55:11 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, because I feel like that's very normal.

01:55:13 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, video games is, you know, so you're okay, Kevin. And Mike. You're okay on this one. And me and the man pass and stuff. I will tell you that there is nothing better than having a child. Like I would love to have Somebody in my life like Milo Again I would go back in a second Because I used to love buying toys And the funniest was I would come home from At that time it was Toys R Us

01:55:42 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 1:

And

01:55:44 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 4:

My children would not be interested in the toys That they got Because I would be the one that would pick them out for myself And we would come home And Chelsea would go oh my god this is so sweet You bought a bunch of toys for the kids and then all of a sudden you get jacob or joe now dad bought these but it was i would i lived vicariously through my kids because i would see them play and i don't know if you do this with your children mike and kevin and even shannon but when you see them playing like a barbie do you

01:56:13 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 8:

ever look at the barbie stuff they have nowadays that you say that so i love i do love getting like playing on the floor with the kids i love when lucy has like jewelry making kits and stuff like that i love that stuff i played with barbies until the summer before my freshman year in high school i loved barbies i cannot play barbies why mom i don't know why i will play anything else with her but when she's like will you come play barbies with me i'm like oh i just i don't know what it is and i was such a barbie fan um do you think it's because she makes the rules and makes it like not my sisters are probably screaming at the car radio right now because yes she said that I was always, my sisters would say that I was always, like, the rich Barbie, and they had to be my servants.

01:56:58 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 7:

So they hated playing Barbies with me. So you're right, Megan. It's probably because I don't get to make the rules, and I have to be the servant now.

01:57:05 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 3:

Anytime I play with my little cousins now, I realize they don't want you to play. They want you to sit there and watch them play. That's exactly right. Or play how they play. You have to do what they do.

01:57:16 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, so you know what my out is with that? I give her the iPad, and I'm like, you should film yourself for, like, a YouTube video playing Barbies, and she loves it.

01:57:23 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. Mojo in the morning. Nick, hi. We're talking about adults who still play with toys.

01:57:31 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, hey, how's it going? I have an ungodly amount of Lego Star Wars sets in my apartment.

01:57:36 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Nick, the man. Do you have to hide those when you have people come over?

01:57:43 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 6:

No, no, they're front and present. And, I mean, if you don't like it, then you don't have to be in here. Really?

01:57:48 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 4:

So do you ever take time off from work to play with your Legos?

01:57:56 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 6:

I wouldn't use the word play, but I definitely take time off to build.

01:58:00 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 4:

Yes. To build. I'm sorry. You don't play with Legos. You build Legos. Be respectful. There's no pain playing with them. All right. Well, thank you for the call. Nothing more relaxing. Yeah, thank you. Hey, take care of yourself.

01:58:13 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 2:

No!

01:58:14 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 4:

No. You know what it's like?

01:58:16 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Kevin, you remember when we put together those bracelets and we're like, man, this is really calming. That's what putting together Legos is like.

01:58:21 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 5:

This is what I will say. I am infatuated with the show Lego Masters. I don't know if you guys have heard of this or have seen this, but it's like a competitive Lego. It's amazing.

01:58:30 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I watched it for about five seconds, and I said, all right, these guys are smart because they're making money doing it. Yeah. The people that can truly do it making money. What's going on, Chris?

01:58:39 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, boss, what's up?

01:58:40 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on. You can't call up and say, hey, boss, what's up, and then tell me that you play with toys.

01:58:45 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 2:

I do, absolutely. I have a single father to a soon-to-be six-year-old, and he spends three nights a week at his mother's house. When he's not there, I miss him, so I play with his toys.

01:58:56 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

01:58:57 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 8:

Wait, that's okay. I'll give you the pass, because we miss him.

01:59:00 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's my boy. That's okay, because that's completely off-topic. Shannon's nerd friend who has no children. He should be volunteering his time with children or something.

01:59:12 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 8:

No girlfriend, no wife. Oh, really?

01:59:15 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 4:

Is it who I know it is? Yes. Starts with a K? Yes. Oh, come on. Can we call him out?

01:59:19 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 8:

No.

01:59:20 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh. He sent me a text the other day and caught up with me and talked about how, yeah, how crazy things are. He's on the air.

01:59:28 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 8:

Or else I would say call him because he will nerd out about Legos.

01:59:32 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 4:

Understaffed, overworked, goes home and plays with his Legos. What's up, Tiffany?

01:59:37 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo.

01:59:38 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

01:59:40 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 1:

I have a friend's Lego set myself.

01:59:43 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? I didn't know that there's beautiful ladies like yourself playing with Legos.

01:59:49 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's still in the box, but I haven't opened it yet. So once I open it, I do have a daughter, so she will probably participate. But, yeah, I love the show Friends.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 4:

So I saw that Lego set. I was like, I got to get it.

02:00:03 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 2:

Were you also a Lego person growing up, or was you just a Friends fan?

02:00:08 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 4:

Both. I enjoy Legos. My daughter, she does, too.

02:00:12 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 2:

Because I was going to say, you probably could have bought the Friends coffee mugs.

02:00:17 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 1:

Tiffany, that Friends experience has come into Great Lakes Crossing. I think it opens this time. Is it really? Yeah. I'm pretty sure it opens today.

02:00:22 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 2:

I did the experience in Chicago, which was kind of cool. You take pictures on what's the set.

02:00:26 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 1:

The set and the props, and you can recreate the scenes. That's kind of cool. Yeah.

02:00:29 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Rachel wants to call out her 38-year-old husband. What's up, Rachel?

02:00:33 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Yes, my husband turns 38 next month, and he's been playing Zelda since it released last month. And he also pre-orders all of the AmiBuddies that come out for the different video games. So we have all these little figurines around our house that help him unlock certain things in the game.

02:00:53 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

Does he also get the grass mowed at a certain time and shovel the snow in the wintertime? Like, does he do all the household stuff?

02:01:03 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 5:

Yes, he does. To be honest, after playing Breath of the Wild, I can honestly see how easy it is to become addicted. Have you played it?

02:01:11 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 6:

I've not played it. I just watched him. Steal it from him. It's so much fun.

02:01:15 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you this question. Does he play with you?

02:01:18 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely.

02:01:19 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 2:

He does? Okay. So do you ever have to call him from playing and say, hey, give me a little bit of the love that you've been giving those toys?

02:01:28 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes, sometimes, yeah.

02:01:30 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 2:

All right. Where do you guys keep them? Do you have a special area in your house that you keep the toys?

02:01:35 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 3:

He leaves them in the office, usually, like on the bookshelf.

02:01:39 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that's cool. Listen to Melissa here. Melissa wants to call out her 86-year-old grandpa-dad. What's up, Melissa?

02:01:49 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning. Hi. I'm just calling because this struck a chord with me because, like you said, my dad is 86, and he's played with trains all his life. He's obsessed.

02:02:00 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

I think trains you can get away with. For some reason, that was like an old person thing. They turned into a hobby.

02:02:07 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 4:

Truly. So his life event now was he just got on oxygen and he was devastated because he's on oxygen. But the oxygen company found 500 foot of cording or tubing so he could get to his train.

02:02:20 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 2:

So, wait, they had to ask for extra long tubing for his oxygen just to be able to reach around those things? Yeah. Oh, okay. Well, that's nice that he can still play with it.

02:02:32 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. Darth Vader at his best.

02:02:34 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Wait, is it okay for him to have that oxygen tank around all those trains? Like a spark's not going to cause any issues, is it?

02:02:41 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. And they smoke and they make noise and there's 50 million gauges and every kind of thing.

02:02:47 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 2:

My thing back in the day was like the race cars and they would have race car tracks that you'd set up.

02:02:53 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 1:

Did you like micro machines or Hot Wheels?

02:02:56 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 2:

It was Hot Wheels, but it was like the ones. I had loved Hot Wheels cars. I loved all those. But I also had the racetracks where it was the stupid track that would just go all the zzzz. It was like electric. Yeah, and you'd push a button and that was it. But your thing was to try to make the track as long as you possibly could. And then when your mom told you that you had to clean up because you had friends coming over or neighbors coming over, you were like, do they have to?

02:03:21 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 5:

But the Hot Wheels never goes away because Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live is coming to the Huntington Center. And my 36-year-old brother said, can you get his tickets? Can we go to that, please?

02:03:32 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Don't you love when you have family members that will ask for that stuff and then you go, God, now I got to go to sales and ask them for a favor? Shannon's going to do the Dirty on 30. What's trending in the Dirty on the 30? I have been clearing my throat like mad. And yesterday I was out and about Like I was the prior day Doing that Pro-Am golf thing It's gotta be this stuff right from Yeah my throat's sore

02:04:00 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 1:

My eyes, I want to claw my eyes out of my face They're so itchy I told you, I felt like a dragon yesterday

02:04:07 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 2:

Like that moment where they have that smoke Right before they breathe the fire That's what's happening

02:04:12 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Well we have a special guest in studio And Planet Fitness is doing something Really super cool to help Make sure that if you normally work out outside, which is not safe to do right now. KP's grandma we talked to this morning, Graham Jan. Yes, you can go into any Planet Fitness right now and through the weekend for free, Brian Reif.

02:04:34 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 2:

Brian Reif, the one and only Brian Reif.

02:04:38 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 1:

This is the best idea, by the way.

02:04:39 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Yeah, and good morning. Thank you for having me. Good morning, Brian. Yeah. So explain the stipulations here. You're going to do something, right? You're going to make me, like, sit there and watch, like, a video. This is going to be, like, a timeshare type thing. Or you have to do a plank for two minutes to gain entry. Where is the catch? Where's the fine print?

02:05:00 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 3:

on this you you know what's better than that what you see is what you get at Planet Fitness so when we say you're free access to all of our clubs in Metro Detroit Grand Rapids Toledo Flint area it's free access so it's amazing just come walk in walk in the door with your gym clothes and ready to work out and I

02:05:19 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 2:

was talking to one of your front desk people you don't even like they're not gonna ask you for anything they did they're there they know that you're

02:05:25 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 3:

coming in yeah we do it out we there's a day pass protocol so it's pretty

02:05:29 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 2:

straightforward for us yeah yeah like you're not gonna have to you know you do this with the the

02:05:34 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 4:

teens you try to you know give them access to have something to do during the summertime which i think is always a great thing and i know that you know it's it's very nice of you to do this but this has got to be the one time of the year where you're gonna you're gonna demographic of people that are gonna use this they're gonna be everybody because it you see how many people walk out and about in your neighborhood imagine what this is like everywhere right right yeah so and

02:06:00 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

obviously the lead story the last couple days has been the air quality index and and how horrible it is uh i saw a headline yesterday that uh second worst air quality on earth it's not insane and and uh we've i've heard anecdotally doctors saying that uh running or or exercising outside for half an hour or an hour is the equivalent of smoking a pack of cigarettes wow it's it's not

02:06:26 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 4:

good for you wow well thank you planet fitness in our listening areas here in the metro detroit toledo grand rapids and flint areas go on in there tell them you know hey you know what thank you for this and they'll do it through the weekend when does it go till till sunday at midnight that's awesome what a great idea will you stick around for us and uh dirty and 30 and if you have anything else that you would like to add by the way while you're doing it since you're here and i feel always that I have to be physically fit in front of him. I'm going to stand up, Kevin, stand up, and let's do some movements. Some lunges?

02:06:59 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 3:

What do you think? What should we do? We'll do some arm raises.

02:07:01 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Here we go. Calf lifts. Okay, so I want to give you an update on Madonna because everybody's worried about the material girl. So, what happened before her collapse this week, remember, she spent a few days in the ICU. She'd been battling a low grade fever for about a month. And then her body could no longer take it. I mean, when you have these bacterial infections, at some point your body says enough is enough. And that's when she collapsed and ended up in the ICU. And sources tell me that she really ignored many of her symptoms, never got checked out or treated by a doctor because she's so darn focused on rehearsing for her upcoming tour. So her doctors and those around her are worried she's going to go against doctor's orders and not rest, Which she is at home in New York City Resting and recovering right now One source telling me She's in such bad shape even at home She can't get out of bed And she's just been vomiting uncontrollably So that's scary Mojo has a conspiracy theory

02:08:00 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 4:

I have a conspiracy theory with it But I don't know if I should say it What you got You're probably right My conspiracy theory is there's something else It could be maybe something else That she's suffering from Maybe something that she doesn't want to let people know about I don't know Maybe excessive Listening to this music I thought you were going to say it wasn't Selling well No because I think that she did sell well First off she charged way too much money For these concert tickets I mean I couldn't believe the price of the tickets I think they started it At like $300 a piece From what I saw initially like at Little Caesars Arena. Is she an icon? She is very iconic. The other thing, too, is...

02:08:47 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes, but we're getting a little crazy with these ticket prices.

02:08:50 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 4:

But the other thing, too, that she does that drives people crazy is she never shows up on time.

02:08:55 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 1:

She's hours late. She's not like a half hour late. She is hours late.

02:09:01 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 4:

Which is usually something that is only meant for, I don't know, the rap concerts that I go to. Lauryn Hill. Lauryn Hill, exactly.

02:09:09 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you? Oh, go ahead. Oh, sorry. I'm looking at, they dropped in price.

02:09:15 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 4:

How much are they now?

02:09:16 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Like a hundred bucks.

02:09:17 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 4:

All right, then guess what? Then I think that we got the tickets problem. Maybe it's a Christina Aguilera issue.

02:09:23 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 1:

Maybe.

02:09:23 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean?

02:09:25 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 1:

I want to pay him just to see her opener.

02:09:28 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

I know.

02:09:28 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, everything right now is paused, so I don't know when that's going to happen. It's sold out. An Italian government official apparently contacted Mark Zuckerberg about staging a UFC fight against Elon Musk at Rome's Coliseum. Like, the real Coliseum. The Minister of Culture of Italy reached out to Zuckerberg a few days ago about staging what could be the biggest fight in the history of the world. Sources say that both Elon and Mark would love for the fight to go down at the Coliseum. One of the seven.

02:10:00 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 1:

wonders of the world by the way okay um here's the thing if i've never been to the coliseum but i guess it's if you're holding an event inside it has to be like 100 or 200 people so very very small no large events have ever been held inside the nearly 2 000 year old amphitheater but both billionaires want in they've been negotiating with dana white about the details of a fight the biggest obstacle is the height and weight disparity um they have no issue with it but Zuckerberg, 5'7", weighs 145 pounds. Elon is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. Zach, will you come in here for a second, please?

02:10:39 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 2:

My control board's breaking again like I did yesterday. I need Zach with his tweezers.

02:10:44 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Kevin Costner claims he can't afford to pay his soon-to-be ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, $248,000 a month in child support now because he's no longer under contract for Yellowstone. So due to the nature of his career, Costner said that how much he earns is variable and can change quite dramatically depending on the year. He called her request for that quarter of a million dollars a month. Astonishing. He also noted in this week's filing that he told Christine repeatedly. He said, look, 2023 is going to be a difficult year for us financially if I'm not working on Yellowstone, which he's not. And she said or and he said that she understood that she agreed to that. OK, so there's that. And then Costner also said that Christine allegedly allocates like 60 percent of the cash he gives her technically for the kids, but that he gives her for her own personal needs, like a personal trainer and plastic surgery. That's a big issue. And lastly, Overstock.com is getting a brand new but very familiar name. It will rebrand itself as Bed Bath & Beyond after purchasing that company's intellectual property assets in bankruptcy. So Overstock chose not to bid on any of the Bed Bath & Beyond retail locations like the brick and mortar locations or any of its inventory. It will remain an online-only home goods retailer combining Overstock.com's strengths with just a better known and stronger brand name.

02:12:17 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 2:

That's actually a smart move on their part. And again, can we reiterate, we've got Brian Reif in here, and Kevin and I have been working out during your entire Dirty Report.

02:12:25 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 1:

That's why I've been stumbling over my words, because you all are very distracting.

02:12:29 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Planet Fitness. If you want to work out, don't go outside to do your walking or exercising. Any of the Planet Fitness locations, right, Brian? Yes. Yeah, over 50 in Metro Detroit. I'm sexy and I know it.

02:12:43 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, for all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NoJoneTheMorning.com.

02:12:46 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Miss something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com Mojo in the Morning Show. So I have a little question to ask all of y'all. By the way, you can tell that I've been inundated by these Morgan Wallen people. Why don't I do that? um tell me what you guys would do so this is not me although i think chelsea would definitely have a problem with this a friend of mine and his wife haven't talked in 10 days and it's all because he gave a female co-worker a ride home from an event from a party that they went to they had like a work party tell me what you guys think about this they went to the party together his wife did not come she did not uh decide to uh to go and a single female co-worker was there and needed a ride so he ended up giving her a ride now he has life 360 on his phone he says and actually you know all of his kids do and his wife does too like they all share their their stuff yeah so he said I didn't you know feel like I needed to do anything because she can track me anytime she wants to I'm not gonna lie to her about it I'm gonna you know tell her the truth and my co-worker is somebody who I've worked with for a while and is single female and I you know come on okay there's nothing I didn't even think about it didn't even think about the what could be the implications of driving a female a single female home and honestly they don't even need to be single or the married females are the ones you worry about you don't worry about the single females because the single females think that every married guy is a dork you know they look at them like that it's the uh you know who knows but question is it wrong to give her

02:15:00 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 6:

a ride home because as soon as he told me the story i'm like god she's overreacting and then as soon as i brought it up to my wife chelsea and said chelsea what do you think and she says two words effing uber i go wait a second um all right yes you're wrong i changed my point of view

02:15:18 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 3:

tell his wife like hey i'm gonna be home a little later than normal because i'm taking

02:15:22 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 6:

no he just jane home i think it was i think it was that they were um god i hope her name is not

02:15:29 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 3:

jane i just made that up by the way i don't know anything about the situation but um i no i think

02:15:35 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 6:

he just did he just said i'll just drive her home and stuff you know you're on the way why not you

02:15:40 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 4:

know you're speaking from a guy who's gotten in trouble for this i would say nope i would never do it again did you yeah i brought well it was a babysitter we had a it was yeah it was the first time i we like had babysitters that we didn't know come in this was uh probably when ceci was really, really young, and the babysitter was this girl we didn't really know. We got her off care.com or whatever, and it was like a late-night babysitter. No, and I wasn't thinking about it. She's like, can I get a ride home? Like, you know, my parents dropped me off. And she was 18 or 19, but she didn't have a car. I said, sure, I'll give you a ride home. And I go to get in the car, and my wife called me immediately and goes, where do you think you're going? And I was like, I want to take the babysitter home. I will take the babysitter home. Anyway. By the way,

02:16:25 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 3:

I, as a babysitter, it was always really weird when the dad had to take you home.

02:16:28 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 4:

I didn't think about that.

02:16:29 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 3:

It's uncomfortable for all parties involved.

02:16:30 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know that. Like, I wouldn't have never thought. I was just giving her a ride home.

02:16:33 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 5:

I believe you. Yeah.

02:16:35 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 4:

I do.

02:16:36 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 5:

This is one of the most annoying parts about being in a relationship. It's like, everybody wants you to be a gentleman. Everybody wants you to be a nice guy until you are actually a gentleman and a nice guy. Like, he literally did nothing wrong in this situation, but took someone home who needed a ride. And now he has to not speak to his wife for 10 days. Like, why is it that serious?

02:16:56 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't know. That's because you know why? Because we're not to be trusted. Yeah, that's a good point. But if a woman were to do that, if Chelsea were to drive somebody home.

02:17:07 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so that's what I was going to say. Let's say Sherelle is at one of her speaking engagements, and something happens to her car and she needs a ride home. And some good-looking dude is like, oh, I got you. I'll take you home. How are you going to feel when that guy? No, no, no. How are you going to feel when that guy pulls up to your house and lets her out?

02:17:27 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 5:

I want to know why she didn't call me first. That would be the question. If you need her to arrive, you should just call me.

02:17:32 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so let's say you weren't available. So how would you feel? She had to get home. She had to get home.

02:17:36 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 5:

See, that's another thing. I'm not saying this woman is insecure, not even saying like Cheryl, but I'm secure in who I'm in a relationship with, that I don't have to be insecure of the fact that they may do something without me. Does that make sense? Like I trust my relationship. I trust her enough that nothing's going to go down.

02:17:54 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 6:

I can't figure him out, by the way. Somebody needs to explain this to me. Is he a jealous guy or not a jealous guy? I know. Because what I want to do.

02:18:01 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 4:

I don't think you're a jealous guy. Yes. Yeah.

02:18:03 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 6:

Is Kev a jealous guy? And I don't know Shirelle. Is Shirelle a jealous woman? Like, I'm wanting to know if either one of you guys are.

02:18:11 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Because I don't want to stop.

02:18:13 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 6:

Are you wondering that too, Tara?

02:18:16 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:18:17 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Tara?

02:18:19 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:18:20 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Tara. What are your thoughts? Hi.

02:18:22 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 2:

So I think that it depends on past situations. Is there already bad water under the bridge? Has he or she cheated before? You know, I think that if there's nothing, if there's no trust issues, if nobody's ever cheated in the past or, you know, anything like that, I don't think it's a problem.

02:18:43 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 6:

So if there's never, but isn't there always a first time?

02:18:46 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 2:

no i mean the next that's got to do with yourself and how being insecure with yourself and that's

02:18:54 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 5:

just bigger than yeah a ride home you know what i mean yeah because some trust issues don't even stem from the relationship you're currently in they stem from the past you're carrying

02:19:03 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

old baggage with you exactly and that goes deeper than anything that anybody can do about giving a ride if that your friend's wife don't want to talk to him for 10 days you know there it may be a deeper issue with maybe something that she's got something going on. You know what I mean?

02:19:19 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 4:

Sounds like a huge communication issue overall. Not only after the fact, but before the fact, before he even gave her

02:19:25 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 6:

a rap. I would definitely call ahead of time and say, listen, I'm giving her. What's up, Jamal?

02:19:31 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how you guys doing?

02:19:33 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 6:

We're good. What's happening?

02:19:35 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I wanted to thank Ken for being the voice of reasoning because I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't think it's that serious. I really don't. my wife um does the exact same thing um at her job and you know every now and then she'll just call me and tell me like hey i i had to take one of my soldiers home and it's usually a guy i had to take one of my soldiers

02:20:00 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 2:

home uh because i had to you know take care of some things for them wait wait what does your wife do for a living she's uh she's uh in the military oh my god so she yeah so she and and she works around i would probably say more uh males than females but i trust her solely you know because in the end i know that she wants to be with me so anything that that that comes about that, you know, she knows how to take care of herself. I don't, I believe that she knows what she's doing. So I don't have an issue with that, and I don't think it's that serious.

02:20:42 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 4:

You are okay with your wife taking good-looking military guys home.

02:20:48 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 1:

Serious, sir.

02:20:49 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 4:

Well, I wouldn't say that they're serious.

02:20:53 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 1:

That factors into it.

02:20:55 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

I mean, come on. That would be Shannon's dream come true, to be able to drive a bunch of guys in uniform. If they need a ride, call Megan, Shannon, KP, or Lydia. They'll give them a ride, all right?

02:21:07 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 5:

We'll do that.

02:21:08 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 4:

All right, thank you. All right. Hi, Juliana. What's going on?

02:21:12 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. Good morning. Good morning.

02:21:15 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

What's happening? What are your thoughts?

02:21:16 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 5:

My take on it is, so think of it this way. Women, we overthink a lot. So as soon as she sees your location go somewhere unfamiliar when you're supposed to be on your way home it's like red flags right there what is he doing where is he going so i think that he should have at least just called her his wife and said hey do you mind if i take this girl home if not i'll tell her she has to get an uber like just out of like respect oh yeah we want to be gentlemen and all that stuff but like part of being a gentleman is also like making sure your woman's comfortable so if that's a situation where you're going to be with another female Now, just call her and make sure she's comfortable with it. That's part of being a gentleman.

02:21:56 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 4:

I think that in that case, I would just buy them an Uber. Like, I would just rather just spend the money and call them an Uber. But wait a second.

02:22:03 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 6:

So what you're saying is you're too uncomfortable to call Chelsea to ask her. Yes. If you're so uncomfortable, there's a reason you're uncomfortable, so you probably shouldn't be doing it. Yes. Yes. You know why?

02:22:14 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 4:

Because yes. That's what I'm saying. Zach, what's up?

02:22:18 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I agree with the previous caller. You know, I've got to respect your partner. I'm letting them know.

02:22:24 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. My Siri. Siri has an opinion. What's that, Siri? Say it again. You're saying something? This contact info are you looking for? I was looking for. Oh, yeah. Who are you looking for right now? I don't know. I don't know. Zach, say what you're going to say again and get me out of this trouble.

02:22:40 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 3:

I agree with the previous caller. You know, you've got to respect your partner, and it's all about trust, too. You've got to trust your partner. Do you trust them not to go willy-nilly with the other person they're trying to give a ride home to? You know, I trust my partner to give someone a ride home. You do what you got to do.

02:22:56 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it.

02:22:58 - 02:22:58 | Unknown:

Of course.

02:22:59 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 4:

Alicia, if your guy were to take home some single coworker of his and drop them off after a night of going out and having office partying, would he have?

02:23:14 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 6:

A doghouse? Yes.

02:23:15 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes. That's all I wanted to ask. He would be in trouble, right? Yeah.

02:23:23 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I mean, so, I mean, I get it, okay? Ride home, whatever. But if you're in the unknowing, what do you really know? You know what I mean? I don't get that. I don't know what that means either. I don't get that. It's a Friday.

02:23:36 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 4:

This sounds like Stranger Things. Into the unknown?

02:23:41 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 6:

Are you saying some things are better left unknown? Um, I mean, I'm saying, like, if you don't, if you, if you're, if you don't know the situation, what's going on, like, I, like, he probably should have called because she can see location, right? Yeah. So he probably should have called, but, like, if, if you don't know what is going on, how do you really know? How do you really know what I mean? I am so damn confused by that statement.

02:24:05 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 1:

The glass on the house, you know, guys, the glass on the house is always brighter on the west side than it is the left side. Wait, if you don't know what you don't know, you don't know. You. What did she consume this morning?

02:24:22 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 4:

I think she's trying to make a good point. I don't know. Send your public's information. Hey, Alicia, we should have stopped. We should have just stopped it right after the doghouse. Mojo in the morning show. Megan getting into a little argument with the custodian. No.

02:24:38 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 6:

Again? No. No? Is that you? He never pays attention to me. I don't.

02:24:43 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 1:

He's so mean.

02:24:44 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 4:

Why are you mean to the custodian?

02:24:47 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 6:

You always frame me as the bad guy because you don't pay attention to what I say. And I'm literally the only one in this building who is not the bad guy. Because I, most of the time.

02:25:00 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 4:

am the only woman working really in the building and apparently some of the boys are snitches around here and somebody told on our custodian i'm guessing to our boss and started complaining about the work that she does around here and i only know this because um yesterday a guy i work with uh ran into the studio right before the show started and he goes i need you to go to the bathroom which by the way pretty weird request to get at 5 45 in the morning but all right I'll hear you out and he was like I need you to look for any messages that have been written by our custodian and I was like why like that's a weird request I'm so interested right now of course I will but what's going on well apparently she was writing very passive-aggressive notes to the boys specifically in the boys bathroom on the back of the stall door saying things like I know how to do my job and like if you've got a problem say it to my face because one of them went and snitched her boss and she was like so over it and she didn't leave any in the women's bathroom and you know what I applaud her pettiness I'm here for her because she's got to call these boys out

02:26:11 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 3:

wait so why would these guys were complaining that they thought that she was doing a bad job

02:26:17 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, which, by the way, I have been into the men's room around here. You would need an absolute miracle worker to clean after these guys. These guys are so gross.

02:26:26 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Who do you think it was that was complaining the most?

02:26:31 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 4:

Great question. Because, honestly, I can see all of them doing it.

02:26:36 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 3:

They're all like that?

02:26:38 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 4:

They're all whiny little baby brats. All of them.

02:26:41 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 3:

They're all bitches, all of us guys. And we're just sliding by the fact that Megan was in the men's restroom, right?

02:26:48 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, here's the thing. This is the best part about our building. Our men's restroom is the worst, smallest, grossest bathroom in the entire world. And the women's restroom has chairs and mirrors and a vanity. And it's become a running joke that, like, everybody's been in both bathrooms because everybody was like, how did the girls get away with this?

02:27:09 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 1:

It's always like that in every building. The guy's bathroom always sucks, and the girl's bathroom is always amazing.

02:27:14 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 5:

Not in this one. We only have one sink that works. Everybody flushes their tampons, which is so gross. So you usually only have maybe two toilets that work.

02:27:22 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 4:

We have a hair and makeup area.

02:27:24 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I know. Your bathroom is amazing.

02:27:27 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 3:

Because it used to be like, was it like a TV studio at one point or something?

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 4:

I think so.

02:27:32 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 3:

That was the Denny Schafer days when he was, his people wanted it, or I don't know.

02:27:36 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

02:27:37 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Question for you. Do you have a cleaning person that has as much personality as Gina, our cleaning lady?

02:27:44 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, absolutely. Really? Tammy is the best.

02:27:47 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 3:

Do you have her number? Can we call her?

02:27:48 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't have her number, but Jillian might.

02:27:51 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 3:

Because here's the thing. I would love to actually. Hold on. While you're stalling and finding that number, call it. Let me call Gina the cleaning lady. We're going to ask her the question. Who is the dirtier? Hello, Gina, the cleaning lady. Hello.

02:28:06 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good morning, Mojo.

02:28:09 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 3:

How are you doing?

02:28:11 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 2:

Very good, very good.

02:28:13 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 3:

It's so nice to talk to you. Do you have big plans for the 4th of July?

02:28:18 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 2:

No, not big plans, small plans.

02:28:21 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 3:

A little barbecue.

02:28:22 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Are you cooking, Gina? Yeah, barbecue and going to Port Huron and with friends.

02:28:29 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 3:

What's up at Port Huron? You guys go out in the water or what do you do?

02:28:32 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 2:

No, just there is a park there. So we always got to barbecue and.

02:28:38 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Very nice. Gina, quick question for you and be very honest. Nobody's listening to this. Who are dirtier as far as the I Heart Detroit studios, the men's room or the women's room?

02:28:56 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead. Women's. There we go. There we go. I know.

02:29:04 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's the women. They pee all over the place, don't they?

02:29:09 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

No flush the toilet. No flush after, you know, cycle.

02:29:14 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 3:

After cycle.

02:29:15 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 5:

That's what I'm telling you. People throw their tampons in the toilet and just try to flush them, and they don't go down, so they just leave them.

02:29:21 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 3:

The women in the women's restroom will have issues with their cycle, and then they will just leave it all over the place?

02:29:28 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 2:

Who do we work with? Yeah. Sometimes they don't. I mean, yeah. Sometimes they don't flush. That's the thing in it. I have to put my rubber bands and take it out, you know.

02:29:44 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you filthy person.

02:29:46 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 2:

Leave this immersive there.

02:29:50 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 5:

Wait, do you believe my tampon in the appropriate little silver box?

02:29:55 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you believe Gina, the clean lady, that Shannon might be one of the culprits? No, no. Thank you, Gina. I love you, Gina. No, I don't believe. I don't know who it is. It might be an accident or they forget or who knows, you know?

02:30:09 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, listen, we appreciate you for all that you do for us. And this is another one of those examples that guys are always told that they're the dirty ones. Yep. We're not, so.

02:30:23 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes, but yeah.

02:30:25 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 4:

All right. Let's get Gina off the phone here right now. Take care of yourself, Gina. I love you.

02:30:28 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Bye, Gina. Thank you. I love you guys Have a nice long weekend You too Hello everybody It's the weekend bitches It's the weekend bitches Right Gina? Excuse me? It's the weekend bitches Yes It's the weekend bitches I love you Bye Gina Bye bye

02:30:48 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 4:

Alright time now for Top 20 Stories We'll just do a couple of these real quick We got a special guest in studio with us this morning My good friend Jamie Reynolds Dr. Reynolds from Reynolds Orthodontics And you have brought a special guest in with you, too, Jen, who is the—actually, you are the reason why KP has that beautiful smile, too, right? Is that right?

02:31:10 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that is correct.

02:31:12 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 4:

So you are also—you're KP's orthodontist. Can you explain something to me, Jen? Does she always wear her retainer?

02:31:19 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 1:

She wears it a good amount. That is so nice.

02:31:23 - 02:31:24 | Unknown:

Wait a second.

02:31:24 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 4:

KP, what's going on? Why are you not wearing your...

02:31:28 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 1:

So, Dr. Jen and I have an agreement. I don't wear my retainer during the day because I talk during the day, but I wear it all night.

02:31:35 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Okay. All right. Yeah. You can get away with it for that. They still fit. For work purposes.

02:31:40 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 1:

As long as I come into my appointments and my aligners still fit and we're moving up, then we're good. If it's not, then I'm going to have to start wearing it during your show.

02:31:50 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 4:

All right. Okay. Just a couple of quick stories here. And one of them deals with Mike and his teeth We're going to talk about this Because Mike's wife You guys, I don't know if you know this Dr. Reynolds Mike's wife works at a dental office On the west side of the state Nice Who does she work for? Do you want to plug them or no? Yeah, again, Dr. McMahon Dr. McMahon over in Grand Rapids Yep, in Jenison In Jenison Yep So, and Mike's What does your wife do?

02:32:18 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 1:

She is a dental assistant

02:32:20 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 4:

A dental assistant

02:32:21 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:32:21 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 4:

Alright Right. And Mike, you're about ready to get chastised by Dr. Reynolds here in a second. Uh-oh, why? There's a story in the Trendy News about you. All right, so here's the first one here. Extreme pride in being an American is at a record low right now. Oh, my God. 39% of adults say that they're extremely proud to be an American. Well, I think it's because of all the divisiveness probably, right, in this world? Absolutely. We always look at that. Well, the other thing, too, is we can't even see what's going on as far as the sky is concerned when you got, like, the clouds of smoke. Can somebody explain to me? Why can't they not put these fires out? I don't know. Are they that bad that these fires? Like, we've had forest fires, but why are these forest fires?

02:33:04 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 5:

I think new ones keep starting, too.

02:33:04 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:33:05 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like smaller.

02:33:07 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 4:

I feel like they're doing a controlled burn, and they're not telling us about this. Is this what it's like to live on the West Coast, where there's always the forest fires and stuff? It's crazy. I don't know. Another 22% of adults say that they are moderately proud to be an American, while 7% said only a little bit proud, or 4% said they're not at all proud to be an American. This goes on for as far as, you know, this being 4th of July. And one of the things that's kind of interesting, and this is something that kind of is a bummer when it comes to 4th of July, they're canceling fireworks displays because of what's going on as far as the smoke is concerned. Fireworks displays are being canceled, and now the new thing is laser light shows. Would you want to go to a laser light show?

02:33:56 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 5:

So we went in Colorado last year. The kids were so disappointed because it was so dry, so they said no fireworks. They were doing a drone show.

02:34:07 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 2:

It was such a snooze fest. It is summer already plagued by some of the worst air pollution the U.S. has ever seen. more cities are pushing for alternatives to 4th of July firework celebrations. This is the most polluted time, so it's becoming worse. Smoke from the historic Canadian wildfires has now spread into the Midwest and as far as Atlanta. And in the West, a new wildfire in Arizona this week forced more than 1,000 people to evacuate. The Western drought and air pollution concerns have prompted the push to replace an American summer tradition. Instead of July 4th fireworks, Flagstaff, Arizona and Aspen, Colorado are offering laser light shows to reduce the risk of fire.

02:34:53 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 4:

Laser light shows.

02:34:54 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

See, part of the fireworks spectacle is not only the visual aspect of it, but the...

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 3:

sounds. Even through her entire breaking news report, it was the pop, pop. Boom, boom, boom. You gotta have all of that. You gotta move to my

02:35:06 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 4:

neighborhood. I live in West Bloomfield, and I swear to God, every one of my neighbors goes out and buys, like, crazy amounts of fireworks. I love it. As long as you stop on the 4th. I would rather have it just be laser light shows. Stop on the 4th.

02:35:18 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 5:

I don't want it in the neighborhoods, but if, like, you're going camping, and, like, you're out somewhere where everybody's just out camping anyways, that's an okay place to do it. I say that because I'm doing it. Like, I don't mind

02:35:28 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 4:

them over the lakes and things like that.

02:35:30 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 1:

Michael, I saw you were back at the fireworks tent yesterday. Yeah, I stocked up a kid.

02:35:35 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 4:

They know me by name now. When are you lighting these things off? And you have little kids. Be careful with them.

02:35:40 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 5:

A lot of it's little kids stuff. They have a lot of little kids, like the new, you know, those snake ones or whatever, where you light them and they just kind of twist around. Snakes and sparklers. That's all we got. Oh, my God, please. Then I got those, and I got those big ones, those giant ones that I'm going to light off. But if there's a place between here and Ohio, I'm driving there today to Toledo. We're all hanging out.

02:36:00 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 3:

We don't have them in Ohio. We're not allowed. Bring some. Bring some to Ohio.

02:36:02 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 4:

You got to go in Monroe, Mike, right across the border to go buy them. Usually, you'll just see a tent or you'll see a wood building. Why is it that they have like a wood barn selling these things? Like, do you ever drive to Chicago and there's the barn thing that's over in Indiana? You're like, that place is going to burn down fast. Why am I the only one making Joe Dirt jokes during the firework segment?

02:36:24 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

02:36:26 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I'll have to re-watch Joe Dirt.

02:36:28 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 1:

Have you never seen Joe Durr? I haven't seen that movie in probably two years. That's why dad named me Joe Dirt and said, I love that movie.

02:36:36 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 4:

She has just lost her coolness with me.

02:36:38 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 3:

Whiskey do's, whiskey don't.

02:36:40 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 4:

Should I do the nerd drop? It's Friday. I've been getting silence all week. I feel like it's hers right now. Oh my God. All right, here you go. Next story, real quick, next story. 70% of people think that food tastes better in the summer. A survey of 2,000 people said that barbecues are the best to have Also other people love to have burgers, hot dogs, chicken and ribs And they say that if they eat it at a time that is not summertime That they don't find it as tasty as they do when they're outside and having fun with their family

02:37:16 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 1:

It tastes different when it's barbecued

02:37:18 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 4:

You like it barbecued I agree with that

02:37:20 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 1:

And not air fried, right? I love my air fryer But yeah, that kind of stuff has to go on the barbecue

02:37:25 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 3:

I feel like the environment plays a huge part in that, too.

02:37:27 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 4:

Seven in ten people agree that some foods just taste better during the summertime, like watermelon, ice cream, and lemonade.

02:37:35 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 3:

You're outside. It's hot. It's usually a party or an event happening. It has to add to the taste.

02:37:40 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 4:

And this is where Mike's going to get yelled at by our friends here from Reynolds Orthodontics and Dr. Reynolds. Mike, those carbonated beverages, those LaCroix that you drink so often, dentists are telling you to stop drinking them because they are ruining your teeth dr reynolds

02:37:58 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 2:

what do they do to your teeth well they have acid in them right and so the bacteria that in cavities makes acid which melts your teeth and that's where you get a cavity from so you're kind of eliminating the middle man by just putting the acidic stuff on you so the beverages like the

02:38:12 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 4:

la croix that mike drinks so much and then also what those uh adult beverages that come uh with

02:38:17 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 2:

You know, the acid is one thing, and then, you know, when you add caffeine or alcohol plus sugar, you increase the, you know, addictiveness of the drink, and so the sugary caffeinated ones are the worst.

02:38:29 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 4:

But Dr. Reynolds, don't you want people to get cavities? I mean, I know you guys are an orthodontist. You want, you know, you straighten the teeth out, but the dentists want that, right?

02:38:36 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 2:

We're proponents of dental health, right? And so I think we all would prefer prevention.

02:38:40 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 4:

See, because we like people that don't have the ability to actually go buy music. We want people that, you know, have to listen to us for music. A Joe Dirt orthodontist may want to listen to us for music. Megan, did you see what he just did for you? Thank you, Dr. Alton. You're welcome. He loves you. That's great. All right. In a breaking story this morning, the Supreme Court just ruled on the student loan relief program. And the Supreme Court has struck down the program of paying off student debt and student loans. And that just literally just came in right now. That's why people don't want to be American. There you go. There's their thing right now. Now we have to redo that whole survey at this particular time. We are done for today. Happy 4th of July. We're going to be off for a couple of days. We will have good contests, though. Yes, happy 4th of July. Yes, yes. Kev, come on. Should we do it? Should we do it? We do it for the beginning of the show. Can we do it?

02:39:40 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 3:

It's the first ever?

02:39:41 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 4:

No. Should we end the show with it?

02:39:43 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we're here.

02:39:45 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 4:

You want to?

02:39:46 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 3:

Let's do it.
