00:02:30 - 00:02:31 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:02:32 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 8:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. we have all been talking about Shannon's pictures with her kids and one of the things that we've noticed in the pictures is boy hey like Lucy went from being 5 years old to now she looks like she's 15

00:02:49 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 2:

years old. It's insanity. It's wild

00:02:52 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 8:

and she looks exactly like you by the way

00:02:53 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 2:

I know she does she's a much prettier version of me but she is oh he goes well listen here okay let me tell you something what are you gonna say i did not look like that

00:03:08 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 4:

going into seventh grade i've seen i've seen some of your younger pictures oh it was bad i and i

00:03:14 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 2:

feel like every girl who's like you know late 20s 30s i'm in my early 40s can all agree we all did not look like this in middle school i mean for you've seen my middle school photos i had the curled under bangs and i did not know what skin care was the only makeup i wore was like lip smackers vanilla frosting lip gloss and these girls now it's like the makeup the hair the slick back the slick back which i tried to have her do on me when we were on vacation and i look absolutely freaking ridiculous but it is just it's a different ball game nowadays it is funny

00:03:55 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 8:

to think of what uh girls looked like when we all went grew up and i know i grew up a long time ago uh compared to you guys but girls did not look like they like it was never a question of are you a certain age you knew what age you were you know what i mean and a lot of it was the

00:04:14 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 2:

clothing look like 12 year olds and i will say it is my own fault i think that loose you know looks older than her age because i allow her to go to ulta and you know buy all this crap and wear makeup and even the clothes are way cuter now that like we had i thought i was so cool in my old navy tech vest dancing to the backstreet boys and thinking that nick carter was going to pick me out of the audience to come up on stage but yeah no um have you ever thought of putting

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

her in a handmaid's tale outfit just to make sure you're not allowed to go out and dress like this when when lucy's out do older guys look at her a certain way so it's funny you say that because

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

when we

00:05:00 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

were on vacation last week in Colorado there was um there was this like ride that you can go on at the top the top of if you like take the gondola up to the top of the mountain there's all these like really fun things if you follow me on Instagram you saw there's like trampolines and there's you can rock climb you can do a zip line they have this like coaster that you can ride and that's the kids favorite thing so we were in line for that and as we're getting closer I can see this worker who's working the ride he's like loading people into the ride he's probably i don't know 18 19 and he's like full stare at her and i'm thinking you eff her when i get closer like this is this is not gonna happen and it was so funny because smith and loose wanted to ride together smith was too scared to ride by himself well you have to be 16 to be able to have somebody ride with you so normally it's it's me and hen and so we get up to the front and i can still see this guy just like staring at loose and smith goes can my sister ride with me and this guy's co-worker his buddy was like you're 16 right and she goes no i'm 12 the look on this

00:06:08 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 3:

kid's face was like oh crap yeah yeah but what's up with the carnies that hit on girls you know

00:06:15 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 1:

no no he wasn't necessarily a carny i hate to say it it sounds like he's a carny he was actually

00:06:22 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 3:

I remember going to the St. Mary's Fair back in the day, the St. Mary's, Orchard Lake St. Mary's Fair, and I remember these carnies would be there, and they would be flirty. I loved them. Did you go there? Yes. It was so fun.

00:06:37 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

Did you date any? No, I was like 12.

00:06:40 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 3:

But they would flirt with the little kids.

00:06:43 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's so gross. It's gross.

00:06:47 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was crazy to hear you say that, though. The guy that runs the ride, it's like, you 16? I will say.

00:06:57 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Would you like a Def Leppard mirror? No, I'm in middle school. I do feel like these days you have to ask more than you used to have to ask. And like you were talking about the altas. And I don't want to use the word effort. Like they're putting more effort into it. It just feels like it's more a part of their lifestyle than it was for ours. But I feel like the only thing that I saw in seventh grade was a girl had boobs. Yeah. Other than that, it was like everybody had ponytails, resilience. Nobody had makeup on. Lip gloss was like maybe one girl had it.

00:07:30 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I wore makeup. Maybe I was behind, but I don't think I wore makeup until my freshman year of high school. Same.

00:07:36 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

Did you see booty shorts at all or no?

00:07:38 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

No, I think Daisy Dukes was like, it was a rarity.

00:07:42 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:07:42 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 4:

I mean, definitely not in school.

00:07:44 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

It's wild. I'm sorry. If I had a daughter, she'd be locked up in the basement. I would not allow her to get outside. What's going on? How are you doing, Jennifer?

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:07:57 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 2:

okay my daughter just graduated in June from high school but and when I was in high school I was such a nerd and I had like no friends and she was popular with everybody like all the different groups like the jocks and the girls that were on the cheer team and everybody and

00:08:22 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

she just did it so flawlessly so was it wild for you to see as oh yeah as a as a a nerd like you said to see all of a sudden miss popular like did you like that because i think a lot of cases you know people loved it yeah people live vicariously through their kids like you know it's like the guy that wasn't the greatest athlete growing up wants his kid to be like the greatest athlete you know that can go south um yeah for sure quick question for you though did it ever come to a point where you where it's like shannon where she's like i don't want you going up too fast

00:08:55 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

because this is now scaring me oh yes yeah oh yeah yeah i cried like every day senior year wow i even told shannon i was like girl soak it all up because it goes so fast yeah i know she's just in middle school but it goes by so much faster than they tell you yeah let me ask you And she's my only child, so.

00:09:16 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 3:

Is she going away to college?

00:09:17 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She's going to Wayne State. Okay. Oh, awesome. Awesome. That's good.

00:09:24 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

It's one of those things where we've got with, like, Luke and stuff, a lot of his friends' parents, and he's got a couple, you know, girls that he grew up with. Their parents said that it was wild when their kids started, like, pledging sororities. And you start seeing, like, your daughter doing that, and you're like, okay, this is not right. like all the dads that are buddies of mine are like like they're all freaking out you know karma's coming yeah it's scary how fast it goes well thanks jen i appreciate you for the call take care of yourself love you guys love you too appreciate that you're so mean it's i love nerds so it's funny let's go back to uh

00:10:00 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 4:

Shannon and her youth, her, her youth days. Her dad tried his best. No. He did. What do you mean? You'll see. What was, what was the one thing, like, if you look at, like, now Lucy now and how, you know, she's growing up that you wish you had when you were that young?

00:10:23 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 5:

Not bangs. No bangs. Not a bowl cut. Still in eighth grade. It was so bad.

00:10:31 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 4:

When you were a kid, did your parents choose your haircut or was that just like the thing at the time?

00:10:36 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 5:

So, okay, this is something that I vividly remember about seventh grade, which is Lucy's going into seventh grade. Friends was really popular at the time. I didn't watch Friends, okay? But I thought Jennifer Aniston was so pretty and everybody wanted her haircut. So I told my hairstylist, like, that's the haircut I want, the face frame, whatever. Well, my hair is like the same length it is now. It's short. I have chin length hair. So when she did the face frame, I literally looked like Ringo Starr going into my first take from the Beatles. Like, it was a full mushroom. And I was like, these layers are amazing. And I look back on pictures now, I'm like, who let me do that? And I can tell you who. It was Kathleen at Barry and Company in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was my hairstylist.

00:11:23 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Marlene, what's up?

00:11:25 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. These kids are different than when we were growing up. My daughter is 16 years old, and she's an H. Like her boobs? Jesus. An H? Yes. An H. Google that.

00:11:39 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

By the way, don't even think about that. A 16-year-old, don't Google a 16-year-old H.

00:11:43 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to leave that part out. I'm going to leave that part out. You know, she's super thick. I mean, I have to fight grown men all the time because they cannot help themselves. So her co-workers was like, yeah, when I seen she got working, I was like, yeah. And then I seen the yellow name that I was like, oh, no, but she's thick. And I'm sitting there like, I'm a mother.

00:12:05 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 4:

Your cell phone connection is dying because the large wire in your daughter's bra is messing up the case. What does she do? Where does she work, Marlene, if you don't mind me asking? Ashley Stewart.

00:12:18 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 3:

She was working at Walmart.

00:12:21 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. and the shelves and stuff and so she's stocking shelves and creepy dudes at walmart are sitting

00:12:27 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 3:

there looking at your 16 year old daughter oh my co-workers oh the co-workers oh my god marlene he's telling me how good my daughter looks i had to get a man fired at circle k because he kept asking my daughter how old she was oh you how how old do you how how much older

00:12:47 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

do you think she was from yesterday marlene that's where as a parent you know you gotta like oh you want to not allow them to maybe dress in the way that they're dressing but that's

00:12:58 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 3:

yeah no man no sir she wears she's an introvert so she wears hoodies she has begged me for the

00:13:06 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 4:

surgery but they won't do it until she's 18 wow only so much you can tell yeah it's why it is wild i i can't imagine i can't i will say this to you on a from a boy a boy dad uh it is wild when you see older women that will look at your son like luke luke for some reason is an older woman magnet you said that about him and it's crazy because we've gone out places before and you'll see like somebody that should be looking at me not looking at him you get a little jealous look at the dad look at the dad they're like hey granddad you need a t-shirt yeah look at the dad All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 1:

We gonna take you back in the...

00:13:47 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. Tell us when this stuff happened. Hey, you want to go see Luke Bryan at Pine Knob Saturday night? And if the weather was like last night, Saturday night, last night might have been in the nicest weather that we've had all summer long. This is for a pair of those tickets. Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all 14 charges against him.

00:14:12 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 1:

this year count one verdict we the jury in the above entitled case find the defendant not guilty of conspiracy as charged in count one of the indictment destiny's child announced their breakup

00:14:24 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

in this year we don't like the word breakup it sounds really sad we we we like to say that it's the end of a chapter in our lives um and it's been 14 years um and everything cannot last forever

00:14:44 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 4:

and remember when somebody had to leave american idol they would always play this song what a big brain you have tell us when that stuff happened call us at 844 mojo live to tell us

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 3:

6-5-6-5-4-8.

00:15:02 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 4:

What year was it? Let's go to Camry. Hi, Camry. How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. What year was that? It was 2005. Yes, it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Congratulations. You got Luke Bryan tickets. You're going to go see him at.

00:15:17 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. That's very fun.

00:15:19 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 4:

Pine Knob Amphitheater, which is going to be a little bit of a drive for you because you're coming from Grand Rapids. But you know what? You'll have a fun time and you'll get to see the legend himself, Luke Bryan.

00:15:30 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. Thank you. Have a good day.

00:15:32 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 4:

You too. Take care of yourself, Camry. You got anything big planned today or just, uh, just working. I know us too. And you know what? I said this yesterday and I don't want people to think that we don't enjoy doing what we do. We love being able to every single morning, get a chance to talk to you, but I'll be honest with you. I yesterday was so sad to see all my friends were not working this week. A lot of friends were taking the time off. I called a few of them, and they were all, like, up north, you know? Were you sad or were you jealous? I was jealous. I was jealous. I was actually, I was kind of, I was happy to have a job. Great, great, great. But also very sad that we were working this week. But, all right, we're going to give you a chance to win Morgan Wallen tickets. So we go from Luke Bryan to Morgan Wallen. Back-to-back country hits right here on Highway 95. Yeah, what's your, what would be your DJ name?

00:16:27 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 3:

Highway 95.

00:16:29 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 4:

Highway 95. This is Trucker Tommy.

00:16:34 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 5:

I thought it was like Meat Loaf one day. I can't remember. You said something crazy like that.

00:16:37 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

But, you know, radio guys have to, they have to have it like, you know, this is Doc. You know, or something like that. They got to have like some kind of a name. Win Morgan Wallen tickets. Text WANT, W-A-N-T, to 95500. and you could win tickets to go see Morgan Wallen. If you want them, you've got to text WANT to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:17:06 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was a tough night for Team USA. Belgium knocked us out of the World Cup with a 4-1 win in Seattle. So, yes, Bianca, you were just asking. It is over. Coach Mauricio Pochettino's frustration boiled over on the sideline. I think I saw at one point he kicked the water bottle rack, but this is him after the game.

00:17:29 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 1:

Mauricio, I know this wasn't the performance you were looking for. In your opinion, what was missing tonight?

00:17:35 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think everyone saw. From the beginning, we didn't connect with the game. We never were on the game. Even when we scored and we scored the goal, 1-1, we conceded in the next action was like it was really tough from the beginning to congratulate Belgium. They were better than us. I said it wasn't our day. It's not to find excuses or not to find

00:18:03 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 4:

argument. I got a question to ask you. Yes. Why did that goalie get out of the box like he did? I don't know anything about soccer. Hockey, soccer, same thing. Don't get out of the box that far. Was it towards the end of the game? No, it was early. Yeah, it was early. Oh, wow. Yeah, we were down 2-1, then we were down 3-1, and the game was over with. No.

00:18:25 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 5:

No, he stayed in.

00:18:26 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 4:

No, he ran out. He ran too far, and then he kicked the ground instead of kicking the ball. It was dumb.

00:18:32 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 5:

But like the coach said, it never felt like we were into the game. We looked frazzled. It was almost as if we weren't prepared for the moment. We were hesitant. We weren't aggressive. It just, from the onset, it just didn't look like we were in it there. I blame Trump. I hate to say it. I do, too. I think it was his fault.

00:18:51 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 3:

And not that we care about any of the other teams at this point. I don't know who you guys are rooting for from here on out.

00:18:56 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 4:

Argentina or France? We got to root for Argentina because they're the only in the Americas left.

00:19:02 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, you know how each team has like this, like a celebration that they do at the end, like the Norway team, Rose, the England team, they all sing Wonderwall, the Oasis song at the end. So I just found out about this. One of the veteran England midfielders, his name is, what the heck is his name? Jordan Henderson. Yeah. So, they're doing Wonderwall. He jumps over, like, the advertising, what do you call that? The advertising barriers to, like, go into the stands to sing Wonderwall with the fans. Tripped, fell backward. I think he broke his wrist. He's in the hospital right now. Oh, my God. So, he's out? They had to stretcher him off the field. He broke his wrist? it's like crazy and kind of funny but not funny so the coach of england's team i don't know who he is but he said the injury is so serious he is currently in the hospital wow could you imagine

00:19:54 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

during the celebration that happens to you yeah the uh americans they're

00:20:00 - 00:20:34 | Speaker 6:

thing was uh that john denver song uh country road yeah and fans were wanting to sing it last night and other fans were like shut up stop did you see by the way speaking of the whole trump thing we'll talk about the next hour you know he got that uh one of our players to play the red card thing you you gotta uh look this up and talk about it in your next dirty uh what we're being shaded with with that in the tweet that was sent out last night by what was the team that we that beat us belgium belgium yeah where's if you're from belgium are you belgianese what are you

00:20:34 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 4:

if you're from belgium uh i'll have that for you in the next 30s no oh yeah i say no but i don't

00:20:41 - 00:21:57 | Speaker 2:

know what the answer is so i'm just as bad belgians belgians gracie abrams was raising the eyebrows of many swifties by posting a screenshot of taylor's ex joe alwyn alongside photos of this gorgeous red sequin dress that she wore to this past weekend's wedding at Madison Square Garden. So she shares a photo of herself in the dress as well as a close-up of the gowns sparkling in the sun while she's seated in the backseat of the car on the way to Madison Square Garden. Totally fine, normal. She also includes this random carousel of photos in the post and one of them is Joe Alwyn and Emma Stone. Emma Stone was at the wedding. But one of the photos in particular is from their 2018 film, The Favorite. And everybody's like, I don't understand why you would post a photo of Taylor's ex in a photo of you going to Taylor's wedding to Travis Kelsey. So Lydia, our resident Swifty, if you have more info on this, I would love to hear because people are just, like, scratching their heads with why she did that. And lastly, is he or isn't he? Is Lil Wayne engaged? He was setting the record straight yesterday.

00:21:57 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 4:

I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person,

00:22:01 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 5:

but obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today's crazy world and culture,

00:22:11 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 4:

I consider I don't want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part.

00:22:21 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 2:

He was engaged to a 23-year-old influencer from Indiana named Maddie Cannon, but broke up with her because he didn't want to be a burden. Wow.

00:22:31 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 6:

It's not you, it's me.

00:22:33 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 2:

00:22:53 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 6:

By the way, this is maybe a topic for later, but there have been in all the years that I've been on this radio show and this radio station, I've been written up twice. One time was because of Evanescence Bring Me to Life. Wait, what?

00:23:10 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 3:

I've got to hear the story.

00:23:11 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 6:

I'll have to. How? I'm not going to do it today, but there will be a moment where I bring that up as a topic of why were you written up, and that will be one of my topics that I will bring up, but not today. I got one, too. Do it this week. Okay. All right. We'll do it. We'll do it this week. Why don't you get ready? I'll tell you. All right. Was it here?

00:23:28 - 00:23:28 | Unknown:

No, it wasn't here.

00:23:29 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 6:

We're going to give you a chance to test your pop culture knowledge. You better be listening to Shannon. I hope that you were listening to this dirty on the 30 that just passed, Kevin. Very tuned in. I was locked in. Yesterday, Tyler beat Kevin, and now he's going for four in a row. And this morning, Tyler, we got you taking on a fellow listener, Seth from Roseville. What's up, Seth? Good morning, Mojo. What's going on? Good morning. Tyler, say hi to Seth. Hey, good morning, Seth. What's going on?

00:23:59 - 00:24:00 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:24:00 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 6:

Tyler.

00:24:01 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Are you okay?

00:24:02 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You're putting me to sleep, Tyler. What's the problem? I'm awake. I'm awake. Oh, my God. All right, we're going to lock up Tyler in a soundproof area. We're going to begin with Seth with five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Seth, what do you do for a living?

00:24:23 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm a private contractor. I work for a company out of Warren, TNA Renovations.

00:24:27 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 6:

All right. TNA or? Tits and ass? Yeah, tits and ass. You can't say stuff like that on the radio.

00:24:39 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 2:

Movies and books. Huh?

00:24:40 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:24:41 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 2:

Boobies and butts. Come on.

00:24:44 - 00:24:46 | Speaker 6:

Boobies and butts are much better than this one here.

00:24:46 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 2:

You are obsessed with ****.

00:24:49 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 6:

All right. Here we go. Question number one, Seth. Kanye West is currently headlining his Ye Live concert tour. What city is Kanye fan...

00:25:00 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 2:

Famously from. Hold on, I've got to dump that. You cannot swear. You cannot swear. And because I hit the delay, you wouldn't have heard the question. You have gone too far. But the question for those listeners that missed excited to dump it was, Kanye West is currently headlining his concert tour. What city is he famously from? We'll see if. Tyler. Tyler gets it. You ain't got the answers, Seth. Yeah, don't swear, Seth. Question number two, former Detroit Lions cornerback Tarion Arnold is a free agent as of yesterday. How many points is a touchdown worth in the NFL? Six. Question number three, people are still talking about Taylor Swift's wedding. Instead of having bridesmaids, who served as Taylor's man of honor?

00:26:00 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 1:

Her brother? No, maybe. I'm going to go with her brother.

00:26:05 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 2:

In question number four, after years of speculation, Will Smith and his wife are back under the same roof living together. Who is she? Jada. Pinker. And question number five is going to be an audio clue. On this day in 2008, 20,000 people gathered inside the Staples Center for a memorial service to honor the late Michael Jackson. His daughter gave an emotional speech.

00:26:37 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 1:

Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine.

00:26:41 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 2:

What's her name? Three seconds. Parrish. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area.

00:26:51 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 1:

Seth from Roseville did pretty great, even though you swore he got four to five. Nice.

00:26:57 - 00:27:24 | Speaker 2:

All right. Yeah, we had to do a little dumpage on that one back there, Tyler. So no swear words, please, to any of the contestants. He was a little shook when I asked the first question. Question number one, this is Tyler's turn now. Kanye West is currently headlining his Yay Live concert tour. What city is Kanye famously from? Three seconds. Chicago. Yes.

00:27:25 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, one did nothing.

00:27:26 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 2:

And he'll be in Chicago performing that, I think. September 3rd and 4th. Okay. Somebody knows. If that was the question I would have got yesterday, I would have got it right. All right. Question number two. Former Detroit Lions cornerback Tarion Arnold is now a free agent as of yesterday. How many points is a touchdown worth in the NFL, Tyler? Six. Yes. Two to one. Question number three. People are still talking about Taylor Swift's wedding. Instead of having bridesmaids, who served as Taylor's man of honor? Her brother.

00:28:06 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 1:

Yes. My brother Austin, three to two.

00:28:09 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Austin Swift. What does Austin Swift do for a living? He's Taylor's brother.

00:28:13 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 1:

He's her audio director. Is he really? He is the Zach of Taylor Swift.

00:28:18 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? Okay. He's got to miss these next two questions to make you a winner, Seth. Question number four. After years of speculation, Will Smith and his wife are back under the same roof living together. Who is she? jada pinkett smith yes four to three and a perfect score if you get this one on this day in 2008 20 000 people gathered inside the staple center for a memorial service honoring the late michael jackson his daughter gave an emotional speech daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine? What's her name?

00:29:02 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 1:

Paris Jackson. Perfect score! Five to four

00:29:06 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 2:

is the final. He may not have the energy, but he's got the knowledge and he won his fourth in a row. Yeah! That's Trevor.

00:29:16 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 1:

That's Trevor.

00:29:17 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 2:

Tyler, back tomorrow.

00:29:19 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 1:

Did you call him Trevor? I don't know. Where did I get Trevor from? I don't know. TNA.

00:29:24 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 2:

Seth and his... I'm trying to bring the energy to tomorrow. Okay. I appreciate that. Do a bump. Seth and his construction company, good luck to you. Remember them. You'll know them well from hearing him talk about that on the show here. We got a parting gift for you. I want you to hang on the phone. Big Boy is our sponsor this week. We're going to set you up with a Big Boy gift card. Congratulations.

00:29:48 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. That sounds great. I appreciate it, Mojo.

00:29:50 - 00:29:53 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you, buddy. Have a great day. Enjoy your day.

00:29:53 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 655.

00:29:56 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Five. WQI Detroit WSNX

00:30:00 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 1:

Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVPS, Toledo, and iHeart Radio Station. Guaranteed human. Three great radio stations. One stupid show. Mojo in the Morning, live. Mojo in the Morning, show home of War of the Roses. It's coming up. I have to ask a question here right now. And my question I have to ask is, how do you get rid of a solicitor that comes to your door? and it seems like more and more these people come to your door if you're a homeowner you know this if you live in an apartment it probably doesn't happen uh for you but if you if you own a home there are these and i can't understand who these people are they i can tell they're not from the area so to speak but there are these guys that will come to your door some of them will ride on what are those like the line scooters like they're they basically go forward like this but it's just like looks like it looks like no this guy my guy came on a segway what are the what are the ones that are they look like a skateboard but it's a skateboard not going forward but it's a skateboard sideways yeah like a little hoverboard yeah so this guy was on a segway uh his name is zach by the way hi i'm zach from such and such pest control and uh yesterday i'm on the phone with tony travato it's actually kind of funny so i'm on the phone with tony and we're talking business and i'm trying to deal with you know some stuff that tony is uh talking to me about and i'll say i go tony i got somebody at my front door my doorbell rang my dogs are barking and going crazy and stuff and i go and answer the door and of course henry's got to go out there and be friendly with the solicitor because all i wanted to do is peek my head out and say don't want any close the door the guy is there and he is pointing out to me all the spots in my house where my house has different bugs you got spiders up there you got you know wasps going here you got possibility of you know termites and this guy's going crazy with some jungle tarantulas and baths yeah it was it was crazy so i say to him i go uh we have a pest control service who is it We don't have a pest control service. I say, some guy in Walled Lake. Who is it? And he goes, what's the name of the company? And I go, none of your business. So I'm on the phone. Can you call Tony? Is there a way to call?

00:32:25 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 4:

I did, and I texted him around 630, but he didn't text me back.

00:32:28 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 1:

He didn't ask? He didn't text me back?

00:32:30 - 00:32:33 | Speaker 4:

They went to voicemail both times. He's milking the cows on the farm. True.

00:32:34 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 1:

The only reason why I say that we should call Tony for this one is, i'm on speaker with tony and tony is laughing hysterically at this guy's persistence and these guys are so bad i'm telling you they come from some companies and i know more about this thing now because luke almost went to chicago last year as a college student to do exactly what this guy is doing so pest control they go door to door yeah selling like he wanted to do this he did because his buddies were all going to do it together and they were all going to live together and they put you up, you know what I mean? Yeah, they put you up and then they give you so much money if you can get a sale. I call them the clipboard guys because they always have a clipboard in their hand and they're all just annoying as hell and I cannot figure out how to get it you know, get rid of these guys and Chelsea says to me, don't even answer the door. Exactly. Like look through the peephole and just go we don't want any

00:33:36 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You're too nice. It used to be like that for, and totally different, but I remember being at my grandmother's house in particular, and Jehovah Witnesses used to come, and they used to be like, they used to come to the door, and they had their little outfits on, and their little booklets, and my grandma used to be like, just be quiet. Don't even answer the door. Don't even.

00:33:53 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 4:

My mom would make me answer the door, because I was like 10 years old, and I'd be like, I don't know what's going on. Yeah. Are you ready for Jehovah's Return?

00:34:00 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm not answering unless it's a kid. Selling wrapping paper or firewood. I don't have little kids anymore. I used to sell wrapping paper for a fundraiser for school for my eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C. Yes.

00:34:11 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 1:

We don't have little kids anymore. Like, we used to have little kids selling Little Caesars pizza kits. They used to have Little Caesars pizza kits.

00:34:19 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, all that stuff now is online. Their parents just send out a link to everybody.

00:34:24 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 1:

So this guy is not a little kid. I'm guessing he's probably, I don't know, like late 20s or so, mid to late 20s. Got a baseball hat on. he's got his like his shorts with a white polo shirt on and he's you know hey you know hey you didn't tell me your name or no he said to me he goes what is your name again I go I didn't tell you my name and he goes well yeah I know but I just want to like be friendly with you like he's trying to talk and Tony is just laughing away Olivia have you seen these guys come to your house Let's do this.

00:35:00 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 4:

yes good morning guys um i so they they came to my house like mid-afternoon same thing on a segue selling pest control probably like 30s with an ipad and i told them the exact same thing that you did mojo i was like oh we already have one he's like who is it and i was like uh orkin i just like made something up and i was like thank you so much meanwhile my dogs are barking i have two young kids at my ankles he came back that same night at like 8 p.m rang my doorbell woke my kids up the dogs were barking and he i i didn't answer but i was like what is he doing he was just standing out there he was persistent they're persistent i'll give him that yeah i said to

00:35:44 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 1:

tony travato you know what we're gonna do with these guys and tony goes what i think he was worried when i was going to say the answer we're going to have kim block camp hire them as sales people for iheart media could you imagine if our sales people did this oh my god we'd be number one biller in the world turn the sprinklers on turn the sprinklers on these guys well olivia should have done that her kids are sleeping you know what i mean like don't wake up my kids yeah the only pest i got right here olivia is the guy that's trying to sell me this stuff It's crazy.

00:36:17 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. I'm getting a sign now.

00:36:19 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. No soliciting.

00:36:20 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 4:

They don't care. No. No? They don't care.

00:36:23 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 1:

I want to get one of those, too. What's up, Jonah? How you doing?

00:36:27 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you guys doing?

00:36:28 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm okay, Jonah. I'm a little amped up over Zach, the pest control guy that came to my house yesterday.

00:36:35 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

First time in a long time. Hey, Jonah on the phone up. i uh i just graduated from western michigan the business school and eco shield used to recruit every single person in the business school to go away in the summertime and spend the whole summer knocking on doors and they'd get like they get sometimes five hundred dollars per like house that you sign wow wait how much they would get like five hundred dollars because they get people locked into these contracts for years and they would just get tons of money for every single house and so they would get like a crazy commission and these EcoShield people are so persistent. When you said something about like, oh, they're talking about the spots that the bugs are in. They do the same thing for every house.

00:37:25 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

It's the same spot everywhere. No, and Jonah, they do this too. We do the pest control for the neighbors in the subdivision next to you. And you gotta quiz them. Who are they? Oh, and then you go,

00:37:36 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 4:

oh, I know him. Yeah. What is his? Let's call him right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:37:39 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 1:

Let's call him and see what he thinks of your book. It's so fun. Jonah, it's interesting that they go after the business school guys because you're going to college so you don't have to go door to door, right? Isn't that the whole hope?

00:37:48 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 2:

No, exactly. Yeah, they like the sales guys, though. Specifics.

00:37:52 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so they're going after you guys. And it's called EcoShield? That's what it's called? EcoShield.

00:37:59 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 2:

EcoShield.

00:37:59 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 1:

I just want to know, does the pest control work? Or do they, what do they do? Do they sell it to, like, another Terminex guy or something like that? It's like a mortgage. Rachel, how do you get rid of these guys?

00:38:12 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I've had a couple people come to my door to say, hey, can we replace your roof? Or, hey, can we buy your car that's literally been sitting in my driveway for a year? I just say, here's my husband's phone number. I don't know. Call him and ask him about it.

00:38:25 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, your husband loves that, doesn't it?

00:38:27 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 6:

I always give them my husband's phone number.

00:38:29 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, that's what you got to do. You got to tell him.

00:38:32 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 6:

You got to talk to your husband. Call my wife after.

00:38:36 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Chelsea would really appreciate me doing that.

00:38:40 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 6:

Give him Kevin's number.

00:38:42 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to give him Rachel's husband's number. Thanks for the call, Rach. What's up? How are you doing, Carol?

00:38:49 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

00:38:50 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 1:

Carol, I am frustrated. I have bugs all over the place, but I'm still not hiring the Segway guy. How's he going to spray my house with the Segway?

00:39:00 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 3:

I know. That's what I happened to be. Well, first of all, I'm part of Cars, Cash, and Gas, so I can't wait for August 14th. Oh, yay. That's awesome. Good luck to you. I'm obsessed with listening to you guys. But, yeah, I had a guy come on that little hoverboard, and he looked like he had a little pinwheel on his head. And he kept following me all around the houses. We bought two duplexes, and we were just getting new tenants in. And he followed me all around, and he wouldn't leave me alone. He's, like, trying to give me a high five. And he's, like, you've got pests, you've got bugs, you've got this, and your tenants are going to, you know, they don't spray. And he was like, and then the tenant comes in and he's hearing me. And then he interrupted and said, leave the girl alone. So he helped me get the guy out.

00:39:40 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 1:

It was terrible. I like, though, that this guy is like following you around and doing this thing. He's like stalking you.

00:39:50 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was. It was really bad. And he wanted me to give him a high five. And it was awful. That's weird. The pinwheel? Yeah. That is crazy.

00:39:57 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

High five me. Oh, my God.

00:40:00 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 7:

uh hold on mark what's happening hey so i got three kids you know and they're dad make me

00:40:07 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 2:

grilled cheese make me grilled cheese right so i'm making these grilled cheeses uh all of a sudden somebody guy rings my doorbell and uh i answer it i'm like he's like oh i'm a pest control guy do you need pest control like hey man my grilled cheeses are gonna burn uh you know i can't i can't help you and talk to you right i completely understand no problem eating right

00:40:26 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 5:

everybody use that excuse all right oh my god they're so good yeah so good three days ago starbucks ones are so good really randomly yes what's up d'angelo hi

00:40:40 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 4:

we're doing good what's going on pretty good man so good with me and my cousin you know a few years ago this is a little while back um we got tired of the jehovah's witnesses coming to our door, so we chose to open the door one time butt naked, frozen chicken and some incense burning in the mouth.

00:41:02 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 2:

No! Oh my God. Wait, what do you say at the end? Frozen chicken, incense burning.

00:41:08 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 4:

Holding a frozen chicken with the incense burning. What did they do? They said it never came back to our door.

00:41:16 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 7:

That's awesome.

00:41:17 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God.

00:41:19 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 7:

Yo, what?

00:41:21 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 6:

The frankincense and myrrh.

00:41:23 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 7:

You know what's funny is I'm going to do that For the pest control guys Anybody that comes

00:41:29 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine

00:41:32 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 7:

Walking through the door naked

00:41:34 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 1:

You were the mistress before being the girlfriend Oh that'll work Another world famous war in the roses Happens at 740 on Mojo in the Morning

00:41:44 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 7:

Bianca drives me crazy She knows when She's got a topic And so she will wait until the, like, she wants an entrance. Here she comes. Everybody, Bianca's come in for her topic. She knows her topic is next, and she instead has to walk slowly over here so that we all...

00:42:07 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I run Chaldean time, so I'm always showing up late.

00:42:10 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes she will run, though, literally. Yeah, she strolled in today.

00:42:13 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Why stop doing that, because you said you could hear from outside the studio?

00:42:16 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 6:

It's not as loud as the jackhammers. It was close.

00:42:19 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 7:

Pretty close. Bianca is in with us this morning because Bianca says that this job is getting in the way of her relationship.

00:42:28 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is. How so? So since I do like all the social media, I'm always editing videos and stuff. I feel like my job doesn't always end when the show's over. So I feel like my job kind of carries on throughout the rest of the day, which I try to get most of it done here, but sometimes it just doesn't always work that way. So a lot of the times when I'm hanging out with Bryce, I'm always like, you got to give me a couple minutes, but then it turns into hours of me like editing videos or some, or like just other things. But then I'm sitting on social media scrolling. Like, it's just like something I do all the time. I'm sitting on social media or I'm checking our Mojo in the morning page. And he's like, you got to give me some attention too. Like, I feel like I'm always putting my attention on work and not always on him.

00:43:09 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 7:

So he's actually said to you, your job is getting in the way of our relationship.

00:43:13 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes. He says that numerous times. Was this before or after the music video? Oh, before. Way before. The music video was like to make up for all this.

00:43:20 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? You did the music video just to make up to it?

00:43:22 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 3:

To show the love. Yeah, yeah.

00:43:24 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 6:

Did he tell you this and then you made a change or is it like impossible for you to make a change?

00:43:28 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, I always try to make a change, but then he keeps bringing it up to me and I'm like, I'm changing, I'm changing, I'm doing better. And he was like, Bianca, you're on your phone the entire time we were hanging out today. Or sometimes we'll be sitting down and I'll just be sitting there scrolling. And it's mindless. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it.

00:43:43 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 7:

So it's not necessarily this job. It's your social media is getting in the way.

00:43:48 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I feel like since I work in social media, that this job is just, like, always on my mind anyways. Yeah.

00:43:53 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 7:

Tell him to join the crowd, because I guarantee you every one of our spouses probably feels the same way, too. Yeah. Or dig out of the club.

00:44:02 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 3:

It's something I'm trying to work on, so we'll try to do things that don't revolve my phone. But then the second we're done with the activity, like, we'll go play tennis or go to the gym or go swimming or something. and then right after I'm on my phone again. Or I'm always trying to look at my emails. Like I refresh my emails as if I'm getting a new email.

00:44:19 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 5:

Like I'm not, I'm not doing that. But truly we do have a job that doesn't actually stop when we quote unquote stop working, which many people would think is the end of the show. You know, like we're in constant contact with each other all day and you, I mean, you are, like you said, editing stuff. So it is really tough.

00:44:34 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 3:

Or like sometimes I'll get texts from like, you or Tony, hey, can you post this real quick? And I'm out there with you.

00:44:40 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 7:

And what does he say when our texts come in?

00:44:42 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

He's like, oh, Mojo wants you to do something. All right, I'll stay here for another hour and wait until you're done.

00:44:47 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 7:

I'm starting to not like this guy. I'm starting to think that he's coming in the way of our relationship.

00:44:53 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, and that will never happen. But I told him when I first started dating him, I was like, I always put work before you.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 5:

But I feel like that's kind of bad to say.

00:45:02 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, you probably shouldn't have said that.

00:45:04 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm sure a lot of people probably feel like how you feel. I used to date a girl who used to do something big around Christmas. And like the first Christmas that we were like really together, I'm thinking like, we're going to be together. And she was nowhere near me. And it was like, damn, bro. Like, I get it. But at the same time, you can't find any time for me. Yeah.

00:45:24 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 4:

And it sucked. Whose job is coming in between their relationship? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

00:45:34 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 5:

I hung out with a girl yesterday, and within the first 10 minutes, she's like, oh, so did you kiss your cousin at the wedding? I'm like, dog. She listened. All because we posted the video, and she listened.

00:45:47 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 1:

Because Bianca was working.

00:45:49 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:45:49 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 1:

I can't have it with Bryce.

00:45:51 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 2:

But I feel like this actually happens, like thinking about it with my parents, too. I think growing up with my dad, he was always gone. Like his work kind of overtook their marriage and like even going out.

00:46:01 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 4:

Did your mom complain about it? Like Bryce is complaining about it?

00:46:04 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 2:

She complains to me about it. She'll say, Bianca never gets you a man who works too much where he never sees you. But then that's me now. You're the man.

00:46:11 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 4:

So then how does she feel if you are with a man that doesn't work and doesn't.

00:46:16 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

I don't think she would like that either. So it's like a lose-lose situation here.

00:46:19 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I know there's a happy medium. Like you got to have your time together. And I think you have to be the one to do that. And I'll tell you, I'm a horrible person to take advice from because I still to this day don't do that. And I regret it. I wish I was better at that. But I think that, you know, I don't know. I think I was raised that that's what you did. Like, you know, like my dad wasn't home, you know, every single night of the week. He was working and stuff.

00:46:44 - 00:46:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, it'll be like even at dinners and stuff, though. He was at his other family's house.

00:46:49 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 4:

He was getting milk.

00:46:52 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you getting milk again? It's the third time this week?

00:46:55 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 4:

My dad was a milkman. Actually, my dad probably was the milkman. My dad wasn't home. 844-MOJO-LIVE or text 95500. You know, I used to think I liked this kid, Bryce.

00:47:10 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, you should still like this kid, Bryce.

00:47:12 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 4:

I used to like him if he's all of a sudden complaining about Tony and I calling you or texting you.

00:47:16 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 2:

No, no. It really is more on me. It's funny.

00:47:19 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 1:

I thought when you were bringing this topic up about jobs getting in the way of relationships, it would be like because we've all gotten in trouble for something we've said or talked about

00:47:28 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 2:

well sometimes that is the case too bryce will be like why would you say that yeah that was so extra you did not need to bring that up but um i don't know i just think it's like it's something that is like hard for me and i'm always trying to work on it with him but i'll be like sitting at the table we'll be eating dinner and i'm on my phone and i think about it like will i be this way when i have kids like i don't want to be so attached to my phone or thinking what i'm doing

00:47:52 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 3:

all the time when I have kids but then do you think maybe you need to switch your career up okay so you're kicking me off the show no no no I'm just saying because like for me this is always a problem one of the reasons my relationship ended was because um he didn't like that I was filming everything like we even when we went out on dates I was filming it because I'm a vlogger and that's what I do so now I know when I go into a relationship like they have to be okay with me filming everything yeah that's so either he needs to be okay with it or you're gonna have to get out

00:48:20 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 2:

social media yeah well no i'll never change my career for a man that's like really messed up but i i think that is messed up but i think i should never i don't know i'm trying to i'm

00:48:31 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 4:

trying to respect him and also focus on my job what does he do uh is he working yeah he works

00:48:36 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 2:

at apple oh yeah so he's okay he's a new apple bottom bean that's what i call him

00:48:41 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 1:

i just found out yesterday i already hit him up with like three questions yeah

00:48:47 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 2:

And then he does stuff with sports, too.

00:48:48 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 5:

Can you get us a discount? Yes, 15% off friends and family. Oh, I like it. You said you did the music video as a way to make up for this situation. Did you tell him that's why you were doing it?

00:48:59 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm just saying it for me to make myself feel better.

00:49:02 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Wait, but now you're spending all this time editing the music video.

00:49:06 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm not editing it. I'm not editing it. Someone else is.

00:49:09 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if, and this is what we do for a living, but I wonder if other careers have this. Like, do doctors take their job home with them, or are they always gone? Or, I mean, let's go from doctors to do professional entertainers, you know?

00:49:26 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't know about, like, a time thing, but, like, my dad, he owns a construction company. My mom always complains that our house is always under construction and never getting finished. It's not that he's not home, but, like, he'll start a project, and, like, there's drywall that still needs to be, like, finished because he's always working and doing it.

00:49:44 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 4:

You're bringing your job home with him, and he's got so much stuff going on, he wants to come home and relax a little bit, right?

00:49:49 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but he'll start it and not finish it.

00:49:51 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 5:

I can see, like, when you brought up the doctors, like, doctors and nurses working these long-ass shifts. Yeah. Maybe they got patients that are dying or sick, and they come home, and it's like.

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 1:

They're tired, they're exhausted, and, you know, they're not showing up, quote, unquote, in the relationship.

00:50:04 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's, like, me, too. Like, I'll come home, and I'm so tired, and Bryce wants to hang out and go do things, and I'm sitting here wanting to take a nap. Like, I want to sleep until, like, 5 or 6 o'clock, and he's like, I want to hang out.

00:50:15 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Megan, hi.

00:50:17 - 00:50:18 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:50:18 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 1:

How are you? Good morning. Does your job get in the way of your relationship?

00:50:24 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 5:

It does. So I'm a second grade teacher, and every single day I bring things home with me, whether it's grading stuff or planning stuff or just being stressed out, and it drives my boyfriend great.

00:50:38 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. Yeah. So do you ever talk to him like you're talking to a second grader in your class? Has that ever happened?

00:50:46 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes I find myself, like, shushing him. Like, when he says something, I'm like, shh.

00:50:51 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 1:

Do you do the clap?

00:50:52 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 5:

You're right.

00:50:53 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 1:

Clap one time if you can hear me. Yeah.

00:50:54 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 5:

um it's it's does he ever grade papers for you um no uh i've quizzed him on things before and

00:51:04 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 2:

sometimes my second graders are better than him oh my gosh why that it's like those timetable sheets where you got to do the multiplication that's funny no i was literally i timed him on

00:51:15 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 5:

it and i was like oh you just barely made it oh my god that's funny thank you for the call megan

00:51:20 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the example there, school teacher. What's happening? Brittany?

00:51:25 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. So I am a realtor, and my husband is a teacher and a wrestling coach. And we had to find balance. It's super-duper important, and I feel bad because, like, as I'm listening to Yaka, I'm like, oh, like, I know my busy season's coming up, his busy season's coming up, and, like, we know, so, like, we'll put things on the calendar. And, like, I have time blocks on my phone that, like, no one can get through this just him because sorry i'm not a president um because it's so important and it sucks because when you look at that other person and they're like all you're doing is sitting on your phone and i'm like well yeah because like this is how i bring in money right but i'm like also you're not wrong because i'm wasting time and like when i'm at work i need to be at work i need to be in the office and focus on that but when i'm at home i need to be focus on my home life and like no offense to mojo and tony sorry guys but like i worked a job too that was a lot of social media and like i had a boss too that would text me at 12 o'clock in morning be like hey can you post this no no i'm sleeping so like there has to be a balance and there has to be boundaries and i really hope that like bianca can find that because like is the relationship worth losing over social media you know yes it is

00:52:38 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 1:

her relationship with it's two versus one it's Tony and Mojo I love your relationship with Bryce you'll figure this out

00:52:50 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Mojo set us up so it's all his fault if I start slacking

00:52:53 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 1:

yeah Bryce come on if it wasn't for that what's up Genevieve hello good morning good morning thanks for coming on with us what's going on Genevieve is your job getting in the way hey Genevieve

00:53:08 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 3:

My job has always gotten in the way. Sometimes I think it's just work ethic. If you're a hustler and you give it your all, and especially if you love your job, it's just you have to figure out boundaries.

00:53:22 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 1:

Great.

00:53:23 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 3:

Because eventually you're just going to put it in.

00:53:25 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. What do you do for a living?

00:53:28 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, I have my own photography company now, but before that, I worked in automotive tech. Okay. And especially when I was, like, moving from one position to another, I just was working all the time, all the time. So it's one of the reasons I left that job, but now I do this, and because it's my own business, I'm just, I'm attached all the time. But I have figured out ways to kind of, you have to set some boundaries. You've got to put the phone down because we are attached all the time.

00:53:54 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 1:

Have you broken up with, I guess, a significant other because of the time that you were spending on your job?

00:54:00 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

no but you know i was a new mom so i had two kids and i think it's one of the reasons that i left my last job is because i just couldn't figure out how to how when i became a new mom i just felt like i had to do even more to prove that i could be uh you could do it all

00:54:21 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah well good thing i'm not going to be a mom anytime soon i'm not going anywhere anytime soon Bryce isn't going anywhere anytime soon so we're all chill did you do the whole I'm not

00:54:32 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

going to be a mom anytime soon as something to send to your family members and that's why you're

00:54:36 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 2:

saying because they were stressed out because at the Chris Brown concert I think his mom was like really nervous something's gonna go on because he was playing some inappropriate songs and his mom was like we are not doing this at home guys we're not doing this yeah some inappropriate nothing's

00:54:49 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 1:

going on all right well we love you Bianca and now can you do me a favor can you put this up this

00:54:55 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 2:

I'll make a post for you at 8 o'clock don't worry

I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartum depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety.

00:57:32 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 8:

This blew my mind when I saw this, Millie Bobby Brown. You have over 60 animals. First of all, how do you even keep track of everybody? And second, do you have favorites? Who are they and why? Yeah, I need to know about this.

00:57:43 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I don't know where the number 60 is. I've really got to figure that out. And I could actually have over 60. I just need to really know that number. There have been plenty of sheep in my bed. It's a big bed. In the bed. Literally sleeping in the bed, yeah.

00:57:59 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 8:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:59:31 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

All right. If you ever encounter where the radio show is unavailable to you on your radio, sometimes it could be you just don't have the radio nearby or you are struggling to get our signal in because sometimes in summertime we get this weird interference. You know, you always get a clear signal when you go to the iHeartRadio app and just search our stations. We're on 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM.

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 3:

And, of course, the legendary and flagship station, Channel 955. We're in Grand Rapids, Toledo, in Detroit, and we'd love for you to listen.

01:00:10 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 1:

It is so easy, by the way, to listen on the app. I think some people think it's like this complicated sign-up process, and then you have to take a while to search and find us. It's like two clicks.

01:00:19 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 3:

It's so super easy. And the podcast that we do, we do not, you know, make you sign up for anything. Like, we're not going to charge you money or subscription fees.

01:00:29 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 1:

You can watch her videos on there as well. So it's pretty cool.

01:00:31 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Do you know that there are some other radio shows that charge subscription fees to listen to this? Crazy. And listen, I get it. They got to pay the bills and stuff like that. I understand it. But we, thank God, have good advertisers that advertise with us in our three radio cities. What's going on, Sharon?

01:00:49 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 1:

All right. So after last night's World Cup loss to Belgium, President Donald Trump is getting trolled. The Belgian national team tweeted just two words on their official X account. Overturn this. Now remember, if you live under a rock, maybe you don't know, but President Trump called his buddy, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, a couple of days ago to review the red card that Flo Balogin got last week. He did. Balogin played last night, and we still lost. So overturn this.

01:01:23 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm Donald J. Trump, and I don't approve of this mojo in the morning message.

01:01:26 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Did you watch his press conference yesterday? I've seen him talking about TikTok. What? He said he's number one. He was talking about TikTok? Really? Okay, so this might have been in the clip. I'll send you that one. This was from, I think, the Oval Office. And he was doing a press conference. And, of course, everybody's, you know, talking about the whole red card overturn thing. And, by the way, some of the memes were hysterically funny. He talked about how great of an athlete he is.

01:01:56 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 2:

So I saw the play, and I'm a person that loves sports and was a good athlete, and I understand sports really well, really well. And that wasn't a foul. That wasn't even an infraction. That was two guys running full speed that happened to crash into each other. You can't take your foot and properly place it on somebody else's foot when you're going, no. These were two great athletes that got tangled up, and this referee who is a little bit suspect.

01:02:32 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 3:

Can you check his past?

01:02:36 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to say that because I don't like to create controversy, but very suspect. If you'd like, I'll provide you with the past. He made a call that nobody could believe. You know, even people on the other side, they say, oh, we got lucky. Wow, that's, and it's very interesting. They say they don't show him in slow motion. And I never realized that. I never heard of that before. This seems like it's Eric doing his impersonation. I know, it sounds like a parody. One little quarter of a second, and you'll see that a hand is touching a neck, or you'll see something. Whereas when you see it in fast motion, it will look like two guys collided, which is really what happened. They got sort of entangled. He didn't do anything wrong. And he's our best player or one of our best players, a very vital player. And he gave him a red card. I didn't know what that meant. I didn't think it meant much. Then I started hearing that that means he can't play in the next game, at least in the next game. I said, boy, that's a big, you know, if it happened to another player, it would have been unfair. But when they take your best player or just about, they have some great players. And they say, you can't play. That's very unfair. That's, you know, it's one thing to penalize somebody for the game. But how do you penalize them for a game that hasn't been played yet? It's very unfair. You can't do that.

01:03:57 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right.

01:03:58 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

I'll provide you with the past.

01:04:01 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 3:

I text you. He mentioned Taylor Swift in his. Oh, he did? Can I play it next hour? Is it okay? I have to find it. I obviously did not watch the press conference.

01:04:10 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay. While we're talking sports, real quick. former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrian Arnold a free agent after clearing waivers yesterday so he can go anywhere he wants at this point but isn't he going to jail well I think he's got lawyers that are going to try to keep him out incidental proven guilty but yeah he was released by the Lions last month after being arrested in connection to that alleged armed robbery and kidnapping that happened back in February but posted a million dollars bond his attorney told reporters last night that tarion anticipates he will have employment with another nfl team within

01:04:44 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 3:

the next 30 days i i don't like uh the idea that we knew that this was going to be coming into play and we did not go out there and draft or sign a free agent or somebody like that like we're playing you know minus We'll be right back.

01:05:00 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 4:

you know, a big draft pick right now. And they knew legally that he was going to face some major issues. And they clearly didn't think it was going to be this severe. Oh, they did. They didn't think it would be this. Everybody did. First off, the arm robbery and wanted to pistol whip somebody. You don't think that the guy's going to go to jail.

01:05:18 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 1:

I don't think he wasn't even included in the chats.

01:05:21 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 4:

I don't think they knew to the extent of his involvement. I'm going to say this to you that they've got evidence that they don't charge people if they don't got evidence. And they got something on the guy. I guarantee you that the Lions have people that they can call, you know, figure out if he's going to get charged. Okay, he's going to get charged. All right, great. Hey, Brad, let's go sign somebody for that position. But early on, I don't know.

01:05:47 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 5:

Like, he didn't get charged until recently.

01:05:50 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 4:

But they knew that.

01:05:51 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 5:

They mentioned his involvement, but the severity of his involvement, the level at which he was involved, I think was still in question. Hire PIs to figure out what's going on. And a lot of these teams do.

01:06:01 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 2:

They do. Yeah, a lot of people do. And lastly, Girl Scout cookie donuts. They are a real thing. You can only get them at Krispy Kreme for a limited time starting today. Okay? So they have a thin mince donut, which is a glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with thin mint cookie crumbles and dark chocolate chips, excuse me drizzled with mint green ice cream icing a lemon ups donut sounds like a filled one yeah and then the coconut caramel donut which is inspired by samoa's and caramel delight cookies i love limited time crispy cream today you can get them i think some grocery stores are gonna have them too but fresh at christ i like truffles too man donuts are great i don't know how you say that word i don't know i don't think it's a truffle it's not truffles no i say i say trefoil but I don't know. I like those. All right, the blue box. If you miss anything from today's show, you can always catch up on the podcast on that free iHeartRadio app.

Your call may be monitored or recorded.

01:07:11 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 4:

All right, hold on a second. Got to grab a winner here. Chris is a winner. Congratulations to you, Chris. Chris, Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas, now qualified for a brand new almost $30,000 car, $28,000 car. Congrats. Are you there? You're talking to me? Yeah, that's you, Chris. Is your name Chris? Is this Chris? This is Chris. Yeah, you're a winner. No, get out of town. You're a winner. Congratulations to you, Chris.

01:07:39 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Thank you so much. I'm a first-time caller. Hey! Chris on the phone! My wife, she's probably driving to work right now, April. I can't believe this.

01:07:51 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 4:

April, you're going to be driving a new car hopefully soon. What kind of car do you drive, Chris?

01:07:55 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 3:

I have an old Lincoln, a 90s Lincoln. Oh, my gosh. That's a 90s Lincoln. Oh, yeah. Wow. My wife drives a Trax, but she just had a water pump failure. We had to get that fixed. I got it four years ago. It's getting up in miles, but she's going to get the new Trax.

01:08:12 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Well, let's win this car for her. You got a $50 gas card courtesy of Kroger, and Gordon Chevrolet is going to give you an opportunity to win. So you hang on the phone for a second, okay? Okay, thank you. Thank you, buddy. appreciate it. I love it. You can tell he's a first time. He seems a little nervous. You a little nervous? I'm very nervous.

01:08:29 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 5:

Rub your nipples and breathe.

01:08:30 - 01:08:31 | Unknown:

What?

01:08:32 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 4:

He was telling me that. He was telling me to do that. Not you, Chris. Okay. I didn't start yet. I love it. Hold on. I'm going to get to War of the Roses, but I've got to read this text message. This is too good. 586 says, it's a shame and very frustrating how behind your show runs. if Mojo states that War of the Roses will be at 740, that's when it should air. I wait to hear it before jumping in the shower only to find that it's 743 and I'm still listening to the banter of the dirty on the 30. The banter. That was five minutes ago. Well, we're getting to War of the Roses on for you right now. Here you go.

01:09:14 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:09:21 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 4:

Kristen thinks that her husband is cheating. Who do you think he's cheating with, Kristen?

01:09:28 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 3:

I think it's his ex-wife.

01:09:31 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 4:

Here's the story. He went to go to visit or to pick up his son, right, for the summertime. Is that right?

01:09:42 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Yeah, his son lives in Arizona with his mother.

01:09:47 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 4:

And so when he went there, will you tell everybody where he stayed?

01:09:55 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

My husband said he didn't want a hotel, so he stayed at his ex-wife's.

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 2:

house for the night and is that normal or is he normally in a hotel when he does a switch he normally stays in a hotel so i found that to be alarming how do we go from

01:10:12 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 5:

obviously very uncomfortable him sleeping in the same space with his ex-wife do you think they're cheating

01:10:18 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 2:

well when he came back he told me that um they got drunk that night that he was there and that she was flirty with him. At least he's being honest, it sounds like. Yeah, but like something in my gut is telling me that there was more and that he's not telling me about. He gave you half of the story. That's what it feels like.

01:10:46 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 1:

Which all us guys know. Sometimes you just want to be able to say, well, at least I told you, you know. Give you enough to satisfy you for real. Wow. Okay, so could you imagine his son? I don't know if they did do anything, but imagine the son and how wild that would be, like his mom and dad. All right, and I cannot imagine you and how you feel now thinking that he's done this to you. So, all right, we're going to do a three-way call, War of the Roses. we're going to call up your husband and then we're going to call up his ex-wife and the mother of his child and we're going to do a three-way you understand that once you do this there's accusations that are now out there and you understand that this is going to change a little bit of the dynamic

01:11:38 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah I know and I'll know when I hear when I hear them I'll know whether it's it's for real or not

01:11:49 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. War of the Roses. We'll do a three-way call.

01:12:02 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Hello? Hello?

01:12:11 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

01:12:13 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, is everything okay? yeah it's fine is everything okay with you um yeah it's like you scared out of me it's like really early here you know that right yeah uh that's why i was confused because like

01:12:32 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

i was like why is she calling me so early i i thought i thought something was wrong but oh yeah i'm just sitting here getting my morning going and and my phone rang i was like why would

01:12:44 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 4:

she called like what happened why would this happen um okay well that's really weird because i didn't call you and i don't know maybe something was wrong or maybe no i'm no i'm good i'm good

01:13:02 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 3:

we're good as long as you're good i'm just having a good morning how's your morning going what's

01:13:07 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 4:

going on over there um not much i mean i was mostly still asleep and i just you scared me when i saw that you were calling like you know it's really early but then i don't know then i guess i thought maybe you missed me or something i'm not sure i mean i always miss you i was actually

01:13:30 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 3:

just thinking about you i was just like i saw this tiktok video that reminded me of you and It's so weird that the, I don't know what happened with the phones, whatever, but, yeah, that's kind of cool that, that you, I want to say that you called me, but you didn't call me, but I don't know. Yeah, it's weird because I was just thinking about you.

01:13:50 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. Okay, well, what were you thinking about? Like, were you, were you good, I don't know?

01:14:03 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's always good. No, I was, you know, I'm always thinking about you, but no, I just saw the stupid video, and I was like, oh, my God, she would love that.

01:14:12 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you just send it to me? Although, I mean, since we're talking and thinking about each other, are you planning on staying with me again in September?

01:14:29 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm not sure. I was kind of just thinking about what happened, and I kind of honestly feel a little guilty about it. I obviously do have to... So I'm not sure how that'll all play out, but if I do, we probably should just... I mean, maybe I should get a hotel room this time or something so that, you know, we just... I got to be careful, you know? And you should be... careful but um okay yeah i guess you're right um i mean i had i had fun i had like a good time but i mean that's kind of what scares me like it was almost like too much fun and i'm like i just got to pull back a little bit because i got to remember like you know i'm married now again you're married now again so it's just we gotta like we just gotta keep that in mind it's not like we you know we We just got to, like, kind of...

01:15:32 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, we also have history and a kid together, so I, you know, I'm not sure why you're feeling guilty, necessarily, but, yeah, I hear you. I get it.

01:15:50 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I had a car. I mean, it was great to hang out with you again, have a few drinks, you know, do what we did but like yeah but i we just have to you just have to be smart about it and um you know because i don't i don't know we just i'm just trying to think through this are you saying like

01:16:13 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 4:

you just never want that to happen again or just so i know no not yeah no not that at all like

01:16:20 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 3:

i i would be cool if it i would be cool if it happened again but i just i just trying to navigate my own guilt or my own life or like you know I just want to be I don't want to like get I don't want to get caught doing anything and we just need to do you feel guilty about the fact

01:16:41 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 1:

that that you did what you did or do you feel guilty about the fact because it doesn't sound like you want to stop this. Peter, do you feel guilty that, that you're married and you're also messing around with a married woman? Or do you feel guilty over the fact that this is something kind of weird for your son to have to deal with? Maybe I should explain who I am. Peter, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And your wife, Kristen, contacted us because she was worried that you were fooling around with your ex-wife. And obviously something must have happened between the two of you guys. Kristen do you want to say anything to him or do you want to say anything to his ex-wife

01:17:54 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

honestly like I am just like I knew it I knew it in my gut but like to have it confirmed and to hear how just callous you don't even feel bad you don't even recognize what you're doing like what the f*** like you have history together your history stops when you get divorced and you remarry somebody else Like, how does that not make sense to you? Are you kidding?

01:18:36 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 4:

I am really confused about what is going on right now.

01:18:41 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 2:

You're caught. Don't be so confused. You're caught. You've been caught.

01:18:46 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

What's going on is that...

01:18:47 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 2:

It's not that confusing.

01:18:49 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 1:

Kristen contacted us here at the Mojo in the Morning show. We're a radio show in Detroit. and she asked us to find out if there was something that happened between her husband and you. And I think that she just found out some of the worst news that she could possibly hear on a day like today. And they hung up. They hung up the phone, Kristen.

01:19:26 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm not really surprised.

01:19:31 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 3:

How long have you guys been together? You said they've been divorced for five years?

01:19:36 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got married three years ago.

01:19:38 - 01:19:38 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:19:39 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's going to be a long summer. Hang on one second, okay?

01:19:47 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. Ha ha. Busted again.

01:21:24 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 3:

call Mojo in the morning 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548

01:21:32 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 2:

here's what we know with the War of the Roses and I want to give you an update on a few things that we found out after that three-way call, War of the Roses. You just heard just a few moments ago a wife suspicious that her husband is cheating with his ex-wife and mother of his child. Here's what we know. The child is seven years old. The ex-wife lives in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Shout out to John Jay and Rich and our friends out there. And...

01:22:06 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 4:

It's Brian Coburn.

01:22:08 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 2:

She is married. So she's married. He's married. The husband of his ex-wife was not home at the time of this three-way call. He actually, believe it or not, was also not home at the time that this guy, Peter, stayed with his ex-wife. So I guess he travels or something like that for work, according to Christine. Christine gave us some info. She, by the way, not happy, pissed, very upset about what happens. You hear the conversation between these guys on a three-way call. And we left a lot in on this one, although I got to tell you, I was a little worried about some of the stuff that we needed to edit out because there was a lot of stuff, a lot of personal about the child. And I wanted to make sure that we didn't get to that. So, uh, this is an interesting one because it's an X and I, um, you know, I always sit there and I go, when they have kids together, you hope that their relationship can be a good one for the child. Just not this good.

01:23:16 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, you know, with a big line in boundaries.

01:23:20 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. There's definitely no boundaries there. What do you think about the idea that he, and I want to ask the listeners this too, that he stayed at her place.

01:23:28 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 1:

No way. I mean, I know you have a different opinion.

01:23:32 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 4:

You two have different opinions. Maybe it was a financial thing.

01:23:36 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 1:

I just don't think that it is appropriate, especially considering both are in other relationships.

01:23:44 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:23:45 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 2:

I think the confusion for the child, too. I think it's very confusing if a child sees his parents who are no longer together. Together.

01:23:56 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 4:

I can see that. I mean, what if she has her room and he's on the couch?

01:24:01 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 1:

Right. But again, like, if there's a spouse at home who, you know, is uncomfortable by that, or I don't know why you wouldn't just get a hotel.

01:24:12 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 5:

Especially if your spouse, yeah, wasn't home. Like, do you think it would be acceptable if it was like you and your new spouse and then the ex needed some place to stay?

01:24:21 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 2:

If he was home, I think it'd be more appropriate, right? Yeah.

01:24:25 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 4:

But we don't know. I don't know if y'all know. I didn't ask any questions about that. But we don't know his finances. We don't know if something got canceled. I don't know if that's how they set it up or if something happened.

01:24:35 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 2:

What about doing this? What about flying to Arizona, picking up child at the airport and flying right back? Like, why even stay?

01:24:44 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 1:

Then, you know, there's no financial argument there because you don't need to pay for a hotel.

01:24:50 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Jordan, what are you thinking?

01:24:51 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I was really proud of this guy at first because it's like always the regrets get into him. He's not going to do it again.

01:25:00 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 2:

And then she goes, well, do you not want this to happen again? Oh, no, no, no, man. Just not. Never mind.

01:25:08 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 6:

Well, and also the way that she brought up, like, what is he going to do when he comes back with their child? I don't know. Yeah. It's interesting.

01:25:20 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 4:

Don't do it again.

01:25:21 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 6:

That conversation definitely had a moment where it turned, and they sounded like they were having too much fun together. What's up, Heather? Hi.

01:25:32 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. I just love that the ex-wife, it's just very satisfying knowing that she is states and hours and time zones away, just panicking at, like, early in the morning. Just her life is imploding around her, and she is just, it's early. She just woke up. She's barely awake, and she's having to deal with all this. I love it.

01:25:56 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 6:

So you, wait, what do you mean by that? What do you mean by the fact that you love that?

01:26:01 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 3:

I love that she, like, that the ex-wife in Arizona is freaking out. Like, she is a horrible person. She deserves it, is what you're saying? She deserves it. Yeah, she deserves it. She deserves to be, like, panicked to stay away at 6 in the morning or whatever. Oh, well.

01:26:17 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 6:

Well, it sounded like she was panicked because she was worried something was going on with her kid. but then was easily enough, you know, I guess comforted by this guy knowing that, hey, everything went well. This is the part that I want to know because, Christine, I asked her this question after we did this. I go, what's your relationship or what's their relationship with this new husband? Because that new husband is going to have a say-so in this. Alexia, what's up?

01:26:48 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Sorry, it's Alexius. but um i have a comment for kevin um i had to switch over to heart radio um so i'm a little few seconds behind but i'm really confused on why kevin seems to or seem to be defending the man when it's clear that he was cheating on his wife talking about um well maybe that's

01:27:10 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 5:

financial status like what are you talking about kevin well no it wasn't i i do think it's clear that they had sex and he cheated on her. I was more so saying the events that led up to them having to be in the same environment. We don't know why he actually stayed at the house. That's all

01:27:29 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 4:

I was saying. But there's no excuse to it. It just seems like you're kind of giving an excuse to him. Maybe this happened.

01:27:37 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, I think what's not cool is thinking in this eight minutes, you got all the information. That's what I don't think is cool. What I'm saying is

01:27:46 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 4:

I immediately called when I heard you kind of sticking up for the possibilities of how it led to.

01:27:54 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 5:

I think we do a lot of assuming and jumping to conclusions. And all I'm saying is, they're wrong, obviously. I think we're all in agreement there. All I'm saying is, I'd like to know all the information that led up to the decision. That's all I'm saying.

01:28:09 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 1:

Of why.

01:28:10 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 5:

Why did they even put themselves in that predicament?

01:28:13 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 6:

Alexius, are you a hardcore listener? like do you know the show well at all because if not i'll give you oh yeah i listen um every day

01:28:21 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 4:

my daughter has called in with you guys oh hang on i'm sorry so i so i think the reason that

01:28:27 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 6:

alexius is saying this hi hi alexis so i think the reason she's doing this is she knows that kevin has had uh moments where he has spent the night at his ex and the mother of his child's house so he's not any and you're thinking that maybe kevin's a little bit more you know okay

01:28:48 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 5:

with things a little yeah i'll just be wanting to kill the guy i'll be wanting to kill the guy

01:28:53 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 1:

to defend you kev for that the difference in that situation is both you and your ex were not in other relationships there weren't other people involved who could have had a lot of feelings about you and Jasmine making, Josiah's mom making that decision. Well said.

01:29:09 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. That's the point. It's just, it's not just their feelings that are involved. There's people around them that are affected. There's a child. But I do want to answer your question. We do listen every day. Thank you. And my daughter listens and we listen every Tuesday and Thursday. And she wakes up, Mommy, where's the roses?

01:29:23 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I love it. What's your daughter's name?

01:29:27 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 4:

Xiomara. She's not with me. She's with her dad. She's with her dad.

01:29:31 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 6:

We left him with his dad. Hold on real quick. LaBelle wants to make a comment about you. What's up, LaBelle?

01:29:36 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

I do. I want to know why are you coming for Kevin? Kevin did not say anything to defend this man. Kevin said basically, simply, we don't know the situation. He made a statement that was a fact. And I am really wondering why are you coming for him? Because I wanted to understand why he felt the need to even be biased and even ask.

01:30:00 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 4:

that question in the first place when it was very clear what was going on. I did, too. It just kind of felt insensitive to the current wife's situation with him asking a question like that. That's all. But he doesn't know either one of them, so he doesn't owe the current wife any type of sensitivity, number one. And then, number two, it seems that you already have a bias against him for you to take what he stated as defending the gentleman him when it wasn't it was just a well there probably is a little bias I've been cheated on as well but just in that moment it just seems like defending him in a way thank you ladies you're welcome your personal stuff out towards Kevin possibly yeah she did

01:30:49 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 6:

admit it that she did get cheated on well thank you guys thank you both thank you both I gotta get to this next call Voices Guys initial K K are you there yes good morning good morning you want to be voices guys because you kind of relate to the

01:31:07 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 2:

situation yeah so i am not sure how to explain this but uh i am i am the ex-wife who has hooked up with my ex-husband and we have kids together and um sometimes you have history with people and it just kind of happens it's not right what are the situations you have a connection with somebody you have kids together you're attached for life and you know it's not right I'm personally in an open relationship, so it's fine with my partner, but for their dad, obviously. Does your partner know about it? This is on him, but I don't feel responsible for his decisions.

01:31:59 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

One-way line of communication. What are the situations that lead up to you guys hooking up? Is it a situation where, like, you're spending the night, or you guys are meeting, you know, at somebody's house or a hotel?

01:32:11 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 2:

And that's sort of why I called, because you've been talking about what does the kid think about this. and so our situation is usually when there's really stressful things going on um i was married for 15 years and we know each other better than any person in our entire life uh and we don't let our kids know it's our kids aren't home it just happened

01:32:37 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 5:

and then it's fun

01:32:40 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 2:

you um like it's not always the thing you think about or kids are involved and it's not

01:32:50 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 6:

right why don't you guys get back together

01:32:52 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 2:

what's that again why don't you guys get

01:32:58 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 6:

back together if you guys sound like you guys are enjoying each other's company

01:33:01 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

um because we don't belong in a relationship we're just just part of each other okay sometimes that person who's a comfort is

01:33:16 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 6:

just it's familiar it happens unfortunately for christine she's the innocent bystander and the guy that is married to christine's ex um okay all right well thank you for the call i appreciate

01:33:29 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 2:

My ex had gotten remarried, and because of this, they did get divorced.

01:33:37 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You led to their divorce?

01:33:39 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 2:

That's not something that should happen. It does happen.

01:33:43 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 6:

Do you feel bad that you led to their divorce?

01:33:47 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 2:

No, because part of what happened was his marriage wasn't going well and kept telling me. And so it was going to happen anyway.

01:33:57 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 6:

These guys still love each other.

01:33:59 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 2:

I do feel for that. There's love there. Not a relationship, but there's love there.

01:34:04 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Interesting. Thank you for the call, Kay. I appreciate you so much for sharing your story with us, your personal story.

01:34:13 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Nobody should do this, but it does happen.

01:34:18 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 6:

It does happen. Hold on, Charlene, real quick, and I can only give you 30 seconds, But give your comments on what you think about Christine, the new wife. Charlene, you just ran out of time. What's going on?

01:34:36 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Go ahead. Nothing. I just said that she's upset with the ex-wife and the husband. She quoted the ex-wife saying, like, what do you mean you have history? She didn't quote anything that that husband had said. And that ex doesn't owe her anything. That husband is who owes her.

01:34:53 - 01:34:53 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:34:54 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 3:

She'll stay. Unfortunately.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 6:

You think Christine's going to stay with her husband after he...

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 5:

Hearing him talk to his ex-wife like that and knowing that they've been together?

01:35:04 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 2:

I do.

01:35:04 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay. We should all have people vote on this after War of the Roses. Listen to it and say whether or not you think that they'll stay or not.

01:35:12 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 6:

And then give an update.

01:35:13 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 5:

And then give an update. That's a great idea.

01:35:14 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 2:

So statistically, like how many, the percentage of people who have actually went through this heard the confirmation and stayed anyway. Oh, a lot.

01:35:25 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 5:

It's very big numbers. A lot. It's more than 50%. More than half of the War of the Roses that we do, they stay together. And honestly, a lot of the ones that you hear is because they have to both agree to allow us to be able to air the War of the Roses. Thank you.

01:35:41 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 2:

I thought so. And it's not that I'm not pro-marriage, but I mean, I don't know. I think once you teach someone how to treat you, what's allowed to treat you.

01:35:51 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:35:54 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 2:

So, yeah, you guys have a good one.

01:35:55 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 5:

Let's go back to the women fighting over Kevin. I love when women fight over Kevin.

01:35:59 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 3:

Alexius Maximus Mortali.

01:36:02 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 1:

Mojo's summer of cars, cash, and gas is driven by Gordon Chevrolet in Garden City. Your chance to win happens in minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

01:36:10 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 5:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. If you can relate to anything that we talk about, text call me and we will call you. But Kevin's son, Josiah, had an ask of his dad that is a very interesting ask. What is he asking you?

01:36:32 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 4:

So let's, because I'm getting cussed out in text messages right now. Oh, no. This is an active situation. So let's not use any names. Oh. Let's not use any names. Oh. Yes. Yes. Was it because of my tease? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, crap. I'm sorry. Social media always gets me in trouble. But it's okay. We don't have to run from the top because we can still talk about it. But let's just not use any names. No names. So Josiah wants to see his former sister, if you can put two and two together. And in the car, this came out of nowhere. Like, this isn't something that Josiah, to me at least, has mentioned for a while now. But we're in the car yesterday when I pick him up from summer camp, and he's like, I want to see my sister. I'll just say it like that. I want to see my sister. And I'm driving, and I'm like, where did this come from? Literally. I can't even, like, it's almost like the events that led up to that and the subsequent events thereafter, I don't even know what we were talking about that would have remotely put in his brain to even think about this.

01:37:39 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:37:40 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 4:

But he's like, I want to see her. And I was like, okay. I couldn't even, like, ask why. It was just, I was so shocked. But then he was like, and I don't want it to be on FaceTime. I want to see her in real life.

01:37:51 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 6:

Because how long has it been since he has seen her?

01:37:55 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. She may have been at my mom's house maybe once. Okay, but it's been a while. It probably was like more than six months. It probably was like a year, maybe something like that. Yeah. But I know he has a strong attachment. I know he has a love for her. I know he cared for her, so I'm sure that still is in his heart.

01:38:11 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 6:

Because you guys all lived together for how long? A year?

01:38:15 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 4:

Almost. Almost a year.

01:38:17 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

01:38:17 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, almost a year. And so in that moment, I was like, yeah, I'll reach out and see if, you know, that's something that her mom would allow to even take place. Like if she even wanted that opportunity to be there for him to have. So I told him, I was like, you know, I'll reach out and see. I'll see if that's a possibility.

01:38:38 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 5:

Did you reach out yet or no? I didn't reach out. You brought this to the air before you even reached out.

01:38:42 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 4:

I didn't reach out when he was in the car. Okay. Because if it was a no or if it was an uncomfortable conversation, I didn't want him to have that. But I did reach out last night. You did? Yeah, I called. Okay. I said, hello. Hello. And then I just expressed her like I was pressing the odds. Josiah wants to see her. Is there any world that that would be acceptable in?

01:39:05 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 5:

Is it okay to ask how the conversation went?

01:39:08 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think it went well. I don't have any animosity towards it. No, but I'm wondering about it.

01:39:13 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 6:

Will he get to see her?

01:39:13 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 4:

She said, yeah. Okay. She said she would be open to it.

01:39:17 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 6:

I feel like we have to, some people might be confused.

01:39:20 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead.

01:39:21 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 6:

No, this is your story. I'm saying some people might be confused as to why this sweet little girl was Josiah's sister and is now not.

01:39:29 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so for those who don't know, and again, I'm actively being cussed out, so I don't want to give too much of the situation. And don't give out too much. So I was in a relationship, and I welcomed the child into the world to find out that the child wasn't mine.

01:39:43 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 3:

Right.

01:39:44 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 4:

And that was six months after the child was born. So that's where the connection with Josiah and the child formed and that. And, yeah, to my knowledge, he probably hasn't seen her in almost a year.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 6:

I am dying to know what.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 3:

sparked this in his little brain i think i'm asking today yeah after i tell him that i did

01:40:06 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 2:

talk to her does he see social media at all because of nah that ain't it okay because he

01:40:12 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 3:

doesn't he doesn't oh maybe this was it so i did a bunch of stuff yesterday but one of the things was i went over to my mom's house and my mom has a picture of her oh so it could it could have been

01:40:24 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 2:

that okay maybe that was it yeah um it's it's tough you know it's your relationship and we've talked about this with other you know situations here just recently on the show your relationship uh that you have is your kid's relationship too your child your children are as big a part of your relationship as you are and i think that for josiah who's growing up and boy he looks like a little man now like it's crazy and for him to you know to know that all of a sudden this is not gonna we're not in this relationship anymore and this person's not these people are not in my life it's got to be very difficult so it's i i actually feel warm inside so to speak that uh josiah wants

01:41:14 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 4:

to uh to see uh his little sister not that sorry to interrupt not that this would be a bad thing but do you see this turning into something where like he sees her once and then this is he wants to continue seeing her and would you be okay with that yeah i don't i don't i don't have anything

01:41:31 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 3:

you know wrong with it it's that i i kind of look at that the same way i've looked at the people in my life who have asked me if they need to cut ties with with her or if they continued a relationship how would I feel and I've always said do your thing don't allow my decision to impact your decision and your relationship with the person and if Josiah wanted to see her and wanted to form a relationship I would help support that you know 100% hey Melody what's up

01:42:01 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 1:

hi what's going on um just so I came at like growing up from a like that parent household where we got together really young and at first we all thought growing up that we were all related it turns out the father who we thought was all of our fathers wasn't my biological dad and then they ended up getting a divorce but when I was like 14 I was a little bit older I always started asking about like my step brother and my step sister because we had different dads we didn't see them as much and so i kind of get where his son is coming from where it's like you kind of grew up a little bit and you developed a relationship so it's easy to have like a trigger of like oh well my sister used to do this or and bring back that memory but it's definitely hard thinking now as a parent that if it's something you want your kid to actively stay around for and i don't see a problem staying together and staying in contact but if it's not something that an active relationship is going to be played on then you don't want to keep a relationship going here and there you kind of have to like melanie judge is it worth it here let me ask you a quick

01:43:20 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 2:

question because i want to uh understand this better so you had step siblings and then all of a sudden your your mom and this this man who you thought was your dad left each other and then she pulls you away from these step siblings but you're still wanting to be with your step siblings so did you ever have a relationship with the step siblings after your mom and this man left each other yeah so we we actually grew up until i was about 12

01:43:50 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 1:

thinking because my mom and dad i still refer to like my stepdad now as my dad because we still

01:43:57 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 2:

have a relationship oh wow so even though he's not your actual not even though he's not your

01:44:01 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 1:

biological father you still are close with them yeah and we all grew up thinking we were all related yeah and then before when they knew the divorce was coming and i wasn't going to be with my stepdad as much because he you know he's not my biological father i don't really have a reason to go see him that's when like my mom and him broke the news it was like you guys aren't you know blood related and so i never seen my step siblings again who i thought at the time were my real siblings yeah that is we grew up together yeah yeah how old were you when all of that happened when they broke the news uh i was about 11 to 12 before they officially like told me about it and then got divorced and i'll talk about 14 we were in school and we were doing like a family tree project and i was like well do i count them like i grew up wow thinking that that's interesting

01:44:55 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I wonder what Josiah would do if he had to do like the family tree thing.

01:45:00 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 5:

would he ever i think he had to do it last year and i don't think that he didn't okay that's it

01:45:05 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 4:

that's interesting um i know that you said and we're keeping names and stuff out of this thing and you're getting texts right now text and tell her i said that i miss her and i love her and

01:45:17 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 2:

you know sure and we all let's leave a voice that is what i love about that situation is there's no like yuck i mean i'm sure there is but like you for you to even contemplate this and be like yeah I would be okay with it. I think it speaks volumes about both of you. It really does.

01:45:33 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 5:

Well.

01:45:34 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Well, I'm not seeing the texts you're seeing.

01:45:39 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 4:

It's, you know what? It's, uh.

01:45:42 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 2:

Truly, though, the fact that you didn't look in the backseat at Josiah, or I don't know if he's in the front seat, whatever, that you didn't look at Josiah and go, absolutely not, never, ever.

01:45:48 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That is actually wonderful. So. Alicia, what's up?

01:45:55 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Kevin, I met you at Greenfield Village over the weekend. Yes.

01:45:59 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what's up? First time, long time, she said? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's all on the phone, too.

01:46:05 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 5:

Alicia on the phone.

01:46:07 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Kevin, I think that you are doing a great job with Josiah. I am so proud of you. Thank you. It takes a lot to reach out to an ex and to have a relationship. And so you doing that for Josiah speaks, really, volumes. And I pray for you guys. Thank you. I'm going to get cheery-eyed, but I'm just so proud of you.

01:46:31 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. And it was great to meet you and your family. I appreciate you.

01:46:35 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 3:

It was really great to meet you, too. You are such a sweet and kind guy.

01:46:38 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Can I say something real quick? Yeah, definitely. I wanted to say it's interesting. Your mom is still so much in love with your past relationship. She loves this woman like she was her daughter. I wonder if it would have been good for you instead of just reaching out to say to your mom hey can you reach out I don't need no media obviously you said that maybe Josiah saw the picture in your mom's house your mom is still close but I mean

01:47:10 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 5:

I think there are times where having your parents in your relationship is beneficial and that I think there are alternate times where as an adult you have to step up and handle something on your own. And I don't need to go through my mom, you know what I'm saying, to handle this. I got her number. I could call her.

01:47:32 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, it's interesting. I mean, it's because I know it's funny. We brought up this before on the air, and you have said in the past that you think that your mom might be a little still too close or still wanting you to do this. You're right. She lived after that. But you know what? But in reality, you are still close, and so is Josiah, because that was part of your history.

01:47:55 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 5:

History.

01:47:56 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, you know what? Sometimes history comes back to repeat itself.

01:47:58 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 5:

And that's what you want. You want us to get back together so bad. I don't. Yes, you do. You said that earlier.

01:48:04 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 4:

I do. I love her.

01:48:08 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Pay for our wedding, too.

01:48:09 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 4:

She's one of my favorite people. All right.

01:48:12 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 5:

You're free for the summer. So make waves in the pool and bad decisions at the bonfire. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:19 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Anna says that her mom is doing something that I bet you a lot of parents do to their sons and daughters. And what is that?

01:48:29 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 1:

Set me up. Honestly, my mom and my dad.

01:48:33 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 4:

They're trying to set you up with men? Yes. Guys? Anyone.

01:48:37 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 1:

Anyone that looks like they might be in my age range and what they want me to be with. Really?

01:48:43 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 4:

what why why do you uh why are they doing why is this coming up right now is it recently that

01:48:50 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 1:

this happened again it's happened for a while like we'll be at a wedding my mom's like trying to push me towards a guy she's talking to other moms being like hey you have a single son i have a single daughter they should talk but then this weekend i went back to my parents house where i grew up and i was out on the boat and i ran into um somebody that i rode the bus with in middle school like we didn't even go to the same schools we rode the bus together he's like yeah every time i see your mom at the grocery store she tells me i need to call you oh my god i can totally see her doing like i don't even know this guy i've i rode the bus with him in middle school this is crazy was he cute not my type okay respectfully i'm sure he's a great guy but like do they ever try

01:49:36 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 4:

to set you up with potentials though like i would actually consider potential yeah no really

01:49:42 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm not sure that they know what my type is.

01:49:45 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 5:

You got to tell them.

01:49:47 - 01:50:09 | Speaker 1:

We're working on that. But anyways, then I'm with Pops, my grandpa, who's just turned 86, and my uncles are in town for his birthday. My uncle, who's been divorced for a while. the age of 60 and pops is sitting at the table with me like i think i should set jerry up with her he's like i would love if jerry got together it doesn't hurt ever i'm like pops why are you

01:50:09 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 5:

trying to set up jerry over 60 wait you're all like wait pops your grandfather is trying to set

01:50:15 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 1:

you up with no he's trying to set up his son my uncle oh i thought he was trying to set you up with a 60 year old why are our parents always trying to set us up i talked to my uncle jerry And he's like, yeah, it doesn't stop. And he's like, I'm very happy by myself. And I'm like, same. It almost makes me feel like.

01:50:32 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, you say that, though, until your mom picks somebody that you're like, oh, okay, wait.

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. No, you guys.

01:50:39 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 5:

No, you thought the same confusion that I did.

01:50:41 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 1:

No, I was talking to my uncle about cops trying to set him up and my mom trying to set me up. And I'm like, why does this keep happening? And he's like, it doesn't stop.

01:50:52 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 5:

Anybody else have this where their parents are trying to set them up or, you know?

01:50:57 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 1:

It makes me feel sad. Like, it makes me feel like they want me to be in a relationship more than I want to be in a relationship.

01:51:02 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 5:

You know what's interesting, though? This happens to you. Like, my kids, you know, are like Luke and Jacob and Joe over the years for doing this. Oh, I've always sat there and thought, oh, I wish that they would be dating somebody. You'll probably think the same thing. Like, I know that Lucy's young.

01:51:20 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 3:

Lucy's way too young today. she's 12 years old but there are already like but yeah little boys in our class i'm like oh he's cute yeah he's cute be friends with him my mom did this to me and she actually i think she only did it one time and she was one for one he he was her hairstylist son and in college like we dated

01:51:38 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 1:

for a little while yeah oh yeah so it could work why don't you do this then no why don't you do

01:51:44 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 5:

this with your parents because you say that they don't know your type tell them your type say this is my type and if you see this person come get me. Print out a picture. Did Joe

01:51:52 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 3:

or Jake or Luke ever date anybody that you set them up with? I feel like Luke did. No? No.

01:52:00 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay. No. They, um, matter of fact, if I would say who I thought that they should date, they didn't date them or they broke up in one opposite way. So I would, like, tell the opposite. I actually have to be really careful because of, uh, uh, Luke has a friend and, um, I don't know what they call each other i have no idea and i really like her i almost have to act like i don't you know what i mean because if i really like her i'm afraid that he's gonna like think i think yeah but i really you know it's like i get excited over you know when your kids are i want my kids to be happy i

01:52:34 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 1:

think that's what your mom wants but like i'm i tell them so many times i'm happy like i'm good

01:52:39 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 5:

i listen to the show yeah they do too probably so the worst part is when they want to set you up

01:52:47 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 4:

with someone and then you see the person face to face and it's like this ain't it i took my mom to the bank one time yeah she in there too long i'm like dog call her like what's going on she's like kevin i got her i say what are you talking about she's like come in and meet the teller i think she's the one i'm like mama get your cash and get that did you please tell me i hung up the phone she called kevin get in here i'm like all right oh my god i love your turn off the car i'm going in there. As soon as I walk in, you know, I'm looking at which window my mom and I see her. I look at the house and I say, oh, hell no. Then I got to walk over there. I'm like, how you doing? Say hi. Be nice. Nice to meet you. I'm Kevin. Mm-hmm. Are you ready, mom? You can count your cash. Let's go. Ugly

01:53:30 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 5:

bitches! I'm down in the car like, ain't no way!

01:53:34 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey!

01:53:36 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 2:

It's never gonna work!

01:53:38 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 5:

It's hell! Helena, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:53:42 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I set my brother up with one of my old co-workers and they dated for about eight months and then they broke up and now he's dating my best friend

01:53:51 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 5:

through me introducing them. You know what? This is actually a good situation of this happening.

01:53:59 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 2:

You're the sister though setting him up? I am. I mean the second time I didn't really like mean to set them up. They just kind of started hanging out and I was like you guys would you guys would get along really well and they started dating. I'm like go for it but the first one I did set up.

01:54:14 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Was he asking you for help, or were you just feeling like he needed someone?

01:54:19 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 2:

I just felt like he needed someone. He told me that he was interested in dating but didn't want to do dating apps, and I was like, you know, I have someone that I think might be a good fit. I'm like, we can hang out, all three of us, and just see if it's a good fit, and if it is, great, and if not, no worries.

01:54:33 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 4:

I can see a higher success rate with siblings setting you up as opposed to parents. For sure. Has your sister tried to set you up with guys in the past? No.

01:54:43 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 1:

Thank God.

01:54:43 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

i love her travis what's up hey i am on the reverse i am constantly me and my siblings are constantly trying to set up our mother um she just works and we're like you need

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 3:

You need to get out there, you know? Does she complain like Anna's complaining right now? Like, do moms not like this?

01:55:05 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 2:

A little bit, yeah. A little bit. We're like, see, he collects Social Security. I'm sure that's your type. Because she's older, and we're like, you know, get in the wheel or something. Come on, lady. My sisters and I are there with our mom.

01:55:20 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, although, you know, she has found a really awesome guy. But for a while, that was us.

01:55:27 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 3:

Tamayo, what's up?

01:55:27 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, Mojo. First time, long time, of course. Hey, it's Amaya on the phone. Let's go, let's go. So I had to call in for this one. I have a really close family cousin that I, like, love dearly. He's my favorite, just has never gotten good. We'll, like, just always been in terrible relationships. I have a coworker that I thought was a perfect fit for him, so we all went to the bar together one time. A month later, they're pregnant, and now they're, like, married and dearly in love, and, like, it's beautiful.

01:55:57 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 3:

So family setting family up. That's wonderful. That's a good story.

01:56:02 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 1:

I like the idea.

01:56:06 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 3:

It happens during the summertime, but I like the idea of when you are during the holidays, you go back to your family and you're hanging out like you were over the holiday weekend, hanging out with your family and you're like, Anna, I ran into Johnny Smith from, you know, the high school years. You know what I mean? Like, I love, that's like a movie, how a movie starts sometimes. That's a rom-com right there, you know, of you guys together. And next thing you know, you find out that the kid's kind of a nerd. You know, he's the local sheriff.

01:56:38 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my, it's the movie.

01:56:40 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 4:

It's the Family Stone. It's the movie Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. There's so many movies of that.

01:56:45 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 3:

In Family Stone, he was the, he was the EMT.

01:56:48 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's right. Yeah, the EMT.

01:56:50 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 3:

But you hear those stories sometimes. And sometimes, you know what? And sometimes they actually work out. And other times Anna cock blocks it. Real people. Real lives. Real fun. Real life discussion. Mojo in the morning. Guaranteed human. All right. We're giving you a chance to win right now a brand new car. A 2026 Chevy Trax loaded. It's got every option on it. You got the cameras and all the rest of this stuff, you know, the anti-lock brakes. I don't know. I don't know what the options are. It's a $28,000 car. Want to win it? 844-MOJO-LIVE. Win a $50 gas card courtesy of Kroger, and you could win a new car from Gordon Chevrolet right now.

01:57:37 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:57:39 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 3:

We'll look for the 95th caller in our summer of cars, cash, and gas while Shannon's doing the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

01:57:45 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 4:

So Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding sounded absolutely incredible. An epic venue. There were so many celebrity guests, designer bags, and Cartier watches being raffled off. But could you imagine being a guest at their wedding and having to wait in line forever and ever and ever to get food? Or not having a seat and having to eat standing up? Because that happened to a good chunk of their guests. So they opted for a buffet style food situation where there were different stations all around the garden. So there was like a, you know, Italian and Chinese station. There was a salad station. There was one where you could go get filet. Like all of there was a pasta station. Well, a lot of people were hungry at the same time. So there were lines. And then they had these famous green chairs that Swifties we all saw being, you know, loaded into the building. well they didn't have enough green chairs for everybody so maybe 800 chairs and a thousand people so people were like standing eating um one guest calling the dinner scene a bit of a spit

01:58:55 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 3:

show but still you're at taylor's wedding i mean you have madison square garden i'm sure they got seats i heard well i saw some of the video of what it looked like and when you looked at the video it looked like all that stuff was gone like you couldn't even get to it within hours they say Well, no, they said that it was set up to look like a fairy tale and beautiful and all.

01:59:16 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 4:

They said the dessert table had 30 cakes.

01:59:19 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Like piled on it. Holy cow. That was epic.

01:59:21 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Gotta feed 1,000 people.

01:59:22 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 3:

It's amazing to think that all this food came from, it sounded like they went to some of their favorite places, too, and their favorite places did it. Like, can you imagine all of a sudden, like, you're wedding 1,000 people, you have to feed that many people? I'm coming. Rally's Fries. Yeah? Let me see what else I want.

01:59:40 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 4:

Uptown Grill Salmon. Facts.

01:59:42 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 1:

Tasty's Burgers.

01:59:44 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

01:59:45 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 1:

This is amazing.

01:59:45 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 4:

What about the wings from your favorite?

01:59:48 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 3:

Sweetwater wings. Oh, my God. This is going to be amazing.

01:59:51 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Big boy Slim Jims. Big boy Slim Jims. All right. Harry Styles just made history over at another famous arena.

02:00:00 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 2:

You know, Wembley Stadium, his 12-show residency there just wrapped up. And the Guinness Book of World Records has officially named it the longest residency ever by a musician at Wembley. Beating out Coldplay's previous record of 10 shows. The Wembley run, Harry's Wembley run, was originally only supposed to be six shows. Fan demand doubled it to 12. Up next, he heads to Brazil, then Mexico, and then he comes to the U.S. to do 30 dates at Madison Square Garden.

02:00:25 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 4:

When is Harry coming here? Like, what are the dates? End of August. August 26th. End of August.

02:00:29 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 2:

26th is when it kicks off. You said 30 dates? 30 dates. Yes, 30 dates at Madison Square Garden.

02:00:36 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the Dolan family has got to be rolling in the Dolan because they own Madison Square Garden, the Knicks, and they have the Sphere. And I just saw this. This is a story about the Dolans. James Dolan reportedly is giving up the reins to the Knicks to his son. So he's handing it down. Got his ring.

02:00:56 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 2:

I haven't seen it, nor am I planning on seeing it, but Obsession, that horror movie that was made for like $750,000 or something crazy like that. Do you know that it just crossed the $400 million mark worldwide, making it the highest ever grossing film with a budget of under a million dollars? It also beats out other legendary low-budget hits like Paranormal Activity and Remember the Blair Witch Project from way back in the day. So it's become like a Gen Z, especially phenomenon, joining fellow horror movie backrooms as proof that young filmmakers, many of them who were raised on YouTube, and that's how they started making content, can become a major force in Hollywood and don't need gazillions of dollars to create entertainment that people want to see. It is currently, here's another crazy statistic about this movie, it's currently the seventh highest grossing film of 2026, beating out The Mandalorian and Grogu and Scream 7.

02:01:59 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I need to see it.

02:02:00 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Right? Miss anything from today? You can always go back and listen to the podcast. What? On the free iHeartRadio app.

02:02:06 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 4:

No, nothing. I'm just smiling right now.

02:02:10 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. Is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30th? Did you get a text?

02:02:15 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 4:

No, nothing. to add. I have no interest in seeing that movie. Obsession? No. It's crazy. Is it? It is. Is it scary? I wouldn't say it's scary. It's crazy. Is it jumpy? There are some jump scenes. The next movie I want to see is that Christopher Nolan movie. The Odyssey. The Odyssey. Next Friday. Which I heard is going to be amazing. What's going on, Brooklyn? Are you there, Brooklyn?

02:02:42 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm here.

02:02:44 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 4:

Brooklyn, you sound You sound like you're not. Are you okay?

02:02:49 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm good. I'm on my way to school. School?

02:02:54 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 4:

You go to school?

02:02:57 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 3:

No, I go to cosmetology school.

02:02:59 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 4:

She sounds down. Doesn't she sound down?

02:03:01 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 3:

So, like we irritate her. You gotta go to school.

02:03:06 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 4:

Wow, I'm like worried about you. Are you going to be okay today? Can we build up your energy by telling you that you're a winner in our summer of cars, cash, and gas?

02:03:15 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that will definitely put me in a better mood.

02:03:20 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 4:

What happened? Sounds like it. Did something happen last night or this morning? What's going on? Talk to us. Nothing, really. Just working and going to school, so a little drink, but I'll be okay. She needs her feet rubbed. We, well, okay. Come on down here to Eastern Market, and Kev's going to rub your feet for you. Bring the oils. We'll see what we can do. All right, let me just tell her that she won. I'm going to tell her that she won, and I'm going to let you go on with your day. You got a $50 gas card, so you don't have to worry about your next fuel up from Kroger Delivery. Thank you to them. And Gordon Chevrolet with a brand-new car. Could be that car, or would you take the cash, the $20,000?

02:04:03 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 3:

Probably the cash.

02:04:04 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 4:

All right, then let's do it. That would make you feel good. Wouldn't that be nice? Maybe take a day or two off. Just relax a little bit. Most definitely. All right. hang on the phone for just one second and we're going to get your information from you when we come back here next have you ever flirted with someone just to get revenge when we come back here next we'll talk about that plus am i the a-hole thanks for letting me know you were

02:06:07 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 6:

I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartum depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety.

This blew my mind when I saw this, Millie Bobby Brown. You have over 60 animals. First of all, how do you even keep track of everybody? And second, do you have favorites? Who are they and why? Yeah, I need to know about this.

02:07:06 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I don't know where the number's 60. I've really got to figure that out. And I could actually have over 60. I just need to really know that number. There have been plenty of sheep in my bed. It's a big bed. In the bed, literally sleeping in the bed, yeah.

As War of the Roses happens at 940 on Mojo in the Morning. Scandalous. Wow.

02:07:57 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 12:

Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys here with us today. I'm having a better day than the U.S. goalie from last night.

02:08:08 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure he's just.

02:08:09 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 12:

Somebody needs to tell me why we in the biggest and best country in the world can't find good soccer players.

02:08:17 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Why are you blaming it on the goalie, though? I didn't watch the game. Like, I heard that one mishap, but.

02:08:22 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 3:

That was a big, that was a big mishap. That was a big mishap.

02:08:24 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 2:

What did it cause? One goal?

02:08:26 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Two. Well, I mean, I think we were already down 2-1, which you can come back and tie the game and you know how soccer works, but to go down 3-1 and in that fashion, you know, momentum in sports.

02:08:37 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 4:

Are you talking about the one where he just like ran out to.

02:08:39 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 3:

He ran out. He kicked the ground. He ran out.

02:08:41 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

And then, but then the net was just, the goal was just, you can tell I'm not a soccer player.

02:08:47 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 12:

The net was just wide open though.

02:08:48 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 4:

I was screaming.

02:08:49 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 12:

You kick a ball into the net. I'm at a point now, too, by the way, with this whole... Where I can now officially say, all right, I'm not a soccer fan. I was a soccer fan for a little bit. First off, the uniforms, to me, are goofy looking. They don't look like they'll be good on you. Like, I could not wear basketball uniforms either. Because if I wear a basketball uniform, you know, you're like shorts and jersey. Like, you know what I mean? Like I look at baseball jerseys and hockey jerseys as more for a guy my size and football jerseys. Really?

02:09:27 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 3:

Because all of those sports seem tighter.

02:09:29 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 12:

No, they're bigger jerseys and they work with bigger guys. Soccer jerseys, like Joe wanted me to go get a U.S. one. Joe got a France one. And he says, I said, you got to root for the U.S., man. You're from this country. And he says, well, then why don't you go get one of those things? I'll buy you a jersey. wanted to buy me this jersey okay i looked at him i go there's nothing worse than a fat guy in a jersey especially a fat unathletic guy imagine you coming in here in a soccer jersey could you

02:09:54 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

imagine he would roast honestly for five and a half hours could you would you like

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 2:

blown away if all of a sudden I started wearing one of those?

02:10:02 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 3:

I think you should. Some soccer jerseys are actually incredible. Travis Scott, I know you like some of the shoes. He's done a whole football collection. All teams, yeah. He's got some pretty nice jerseys. Really? Yeah, I'll show you.

02:10:15 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 2:

I think as far as jerseys are concerned, and I want to ask listeners' perspective on this one, I think the most flattering jerseys that are out...

02:10:23 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 3:

What is that? That's the Travis Scott USA.

02:10:25 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 4:

I can see you wearing that, Kev. That's cool. That's really cool.

02:10:30 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't even look like the USA jersey.

02:10:32 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

It's red, white, and blue. It's got like a little flag. That's kind of wild. It's fashion state on it. Like a star kind of thing in there. Interesting. It's retro. It's fashion state.

02:10:39 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

I just want to ask this question of women in the audience, because you guys know fashion better than guys. What do you think guys look better in, sports jersey-wise? NFL jerseys or college football jerseys? Basketball jerseys? You know, the guys wearing tank tops. um hockey jerseys you see a lot of wing wheeled fatties out there guys walking around baseball jerseys you got the buttons up front you know you know or the have you seen the orange ones the pullovers that the tigers have this year that you just had on the other day i had the orange jersey is an interesting looking jersey um soccer i put in there what other

02:11:24 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 1:

sports that are there none of them none of them really with you i don't need my man wearing a

02:11:31 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

jersey you don't like a little honolulu blue in it not really you don't like a guy wearing a jersey like a regular unless they're the actual athlete yeah i agree with you on that i'm wearing a jersey

02:11:40 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 4:

tomorrow i was wearing a canada one the other day but i wasn't home but i think i got a picture but

02:11:45 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 1:

like this should not be a staple in your the word honestly i'll tell you the worst one i won't tell

02:11:52 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 4:

the best one the worst one is the guys that wear the basketball jerseys with nothing underneath why i don't want to see hair coming out of your armpits yeah i don't so i hate those are the basketball ones are horrible oh my god with nothing underneath yeah unless you're patrick

02:12:08 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 3:

ewing in it i'm wearing a basketball jersey tomorrow just for you guys no as a matter of fact i'm gonna wear a basketball jersey tomorrow i'll follow it up with a hockey jersey on thursday

02:12:19 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Got your outfits planned for the rest of the week.

02:12:22 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 3:

All laid out like the first day of school.

02:12:25 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 2:

Who's joining me? I don't know. I think that that's a mistake on your part.

02:12:28 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Look, I bought Mojo a soccer jersey for his birthday a couple of years ago because he loved Tad Lasso. It's a Tad Lasso jersey. Oh, that's right.

02:12:39 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

I do remember that. No. That's at Goodwill and Judo Harbor. No, no.

02:12:44 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry.

02:12:47 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 3:

He's allergic to jerseys.

02:12:49 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 2:

No, can I tell you? I have it still. You want me to wear it tomorrow, too? Would you?

02:12:53 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Jersey. Do it on Thursday.

02:12:55 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Jersey Thursday. Oh, is that what it's called?

02:12:58 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:12:58 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 2:

It is now. Jersey.

02:13:01 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

You got to copyright that. That's really good. We're all wearing jerseys on Thursday, guys. It's been decided.

02:13:07 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hold on. I was trying to call Joe, my son Joe. Chelsea and I were talking about how Joe has a problem. He has too many jerseys.

02:13:19 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Does he wear them? Hey, Pat, pulling the kettle, Mr. Quarter Zip's over here.

02:13:24 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 2:

But I'm a grown, like, that's a very professional thing to wear to work, a quarter zip. Do you actually call this job a professional?

02:13:34 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I'm going to dial him up right now.

02:13:36 - 02:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Call the Joe Show for me, please. Like, I can wear it with slacks, Shannon. I could wear it with shorts. Versatile slacks. I could wear it with jeans if I wanted to. With a matcha? But I don't have jerseys. Can you imagine if I started wearing jerseys? You guys would all make fun of me.

02:13:53 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Please wear one on Thursday. On Thursday.

02:13:55 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to wear my Ted Lasso. You're going to wear your... I don't know yet. I got options. Sierra, what do you think of guys in jerseys?

02:14:03 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

I love basketball jerseys. I am so sorry. Y'all suck. Really? If you have that big, beautiful chest back, I love it. I love it. I want all of that.

02:14:15 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 2:

You date in shape guys. You don't date big, fat dudes like me with stretch marks on my arms, do you?

02:14:21 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 1:

You are not that fat, Mojo. I don't know why you keep saying that. I am.

02:14:25 - 02:14:32 | Speaker 2:

You haven't seen me in a jersey. I cover myself up wearing stuff that's a little more flattering.

02:14:33 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 1:

You look great in football or hockey jerseys.

02:14:36 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:14:36 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 1:

I can definitely see you in, like, your Tigers gear. Like, come on. You act like you're, like, 5,000 pounds or something.

02:14:44 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

I really wanted this year to get that orange Tarek Scooble jersey that the Tigers came out with. They came out with a couple jersey changes. And so I go to the team store right after the show. There's nobody in the place.

02:15:00 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 3:

And I said to them, I go, can I try these on right here? And they said, yeah, you got a shirt on or anything? I go, yeah, I got a t-shirt on. I tried the thing on. I go and I look at myself in the mirror. I looked like a freaking fat orange. What size was it?

02:15:15 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 5:

Did they have your size?

02:15:16 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 3:

Double X.

02:15:17 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 5:

Do they go bigger?

02:15:19 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 3:

But if I get a 3X, a 3X is bigger. I don't know.

02:15:22 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 5:

You're swimming in it.

02:15:23 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't think I would look good. I looked at that thing. I'm going, Tarek Skubal's name. Scoooboo is spelled like way. Scoooboo. It was stretched out.

02:15:34 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 4:

If you didn't get it, he's still going to be with the Tigers.

02:15:37 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 5:

You need the same one that Paul's got. What's his name? What's the mascot name? Paul's. Yeah. You need Paul's jersey.

02:15:44 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Jordan. What's up, Jordan? Hi.

02:15:48 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 4:

What's the deal, Mojo? Long time listener. First time caller. Hey, Jordan. Jordan.

02:15:54 - 02:15:54 | Unknown:

Jordan. Hey.

02:15:54 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 4:

What the hell, man? You like to wear jerseys, don't you? Yeah. Man, I wear jerseys. You know, I got a couple of them. You know, I got the black J-Mo one. I got the white Almond Ra one. Leo, you can't hate on jerseys around here. You know, I got a couple of retros. You got the OG Vince Carter one. Like, come on, man. Very nice.

02:16:14 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 3:

Are you wearing them, or are they up for display?

02:16:18 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I wear mine, but occasions, special occasions. Like, the retro ones, you wear those out. You know, people wear the retros out. Like, ain't no wrong with a nice retro basketball jersey. Tell them, Kev.

02:16:30 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 5:

Listen, on Thursday, not only am I wearing a jersey, I might go 2000s and wear it backwards on y'all.

02:16:38 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, all right now. All right now. Don't come out wearing a backwards jersey. That's the thing I hate the most. Man, I'm like, why wear this jersey backwards, bro? Like, don't make no sense.

02:16:50 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 3:

I hate to get racial on this one.

02:16:55 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 5:

No, you don't.

02:16:55 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 3:

I do hate to. But black guys can pull off jerseys. White guys can't pull them off.

02:17:00 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 5:

I've seen many white guys in jerseys.

02:17:02 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to get racial.

02:17:06 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 1:

Black guys can pull off a lot of things that white guys can't.

02:17:09 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 3:

You can't.

02:17:10 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 4:

I won't even say it's a racial thing. Like my boy Mojo said earlier, you know, it's like it's a physique. You've got to be built for it.

02:17:17 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Maybe that's it.

02:17:19 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 1:

Like that Travis Scott jersey. I think we all could wear that. A white guy wore that. He could do it.

02:17:25 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't see Joe wearing that. Are you kidding?

02:17:28 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 3:

Jordan, can fat black guys wear jerseys?

02:17:32 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 5:

Because maybe it is.

02:17:34 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 4:

I got a couple fat boys that be rocking jerseys, man. What are you talking about, man? I can't lie. They be pulling them off, dog. Man, anyone can pull off a jersey. You just got to style it right. Like, hey, if you know you're a bigger person, you got that belly that's poking out. Well, you better get a 3-4-X. 85-6. 85-6.

02:17:55 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 3:

I got to go to the big and tall. I got to check it out.

02:17:59 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 4:

Let me see what size. Yeah, man.

02:18:01 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 3:

Jersey's dope. They do have, if you go to the team stores, the team stores have their own big and tall section. Do they really? So I go to, so this is the thing. I go to the Tigers team store, Jordan, and I go in there and I'm looking at jerseys and I'm like, oh, cool. they got this one right here and i pick it up and i'm not lying to you it was a freaking tent it was like so big and i go oh i'm in the big and tall section they have it they have it inside of the team store off to the side a little bit and they've got like a row or a rack of of big fat

02:18:33 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 5:

guys jerseys or just tall guys and you don't have to be in there well you're downstairs i like to i

02:18:39 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 3:

like to have the the double x out of the regular guy's store yeah you know what i mean you gotta

02:18:44 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 5:

get you this orange jersey come on yl come on i hit him up hey he might he might be looking like

02:18:50 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 4:

the annoying orange man what size do we need make sure you get him make sure you get him a big one can't be too tight bro thank you for the call

02:18:59 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

wkqi detroit wsnx mesquedon grand rapids wvps toledo and i art radio station guaranteed Read human, real stories, real laughs, real dull. Mojo in the morning, live.

02:19:18 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 3:

It is time now for Am I the A-Hole on the Mojo in the Morning show. If you have a situation in your life where you think, oh my God, I think I'm an A-Hole, we will judge for you. Go hit that talkback microphone. It's the little microphone button that's on the iHeartRadio app under our radio station.

02:19:37 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 1:

and then send us one of these hey mojo so there's this guy that my friend's been talking to and the thing is i have hooked up with him before so i'm wondering if i would be an a-hole if i

02:19:49 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 3:

didn't tell her about it uh let's talk to katie here katie what's going on how you doing hey i'm

02:19:57 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

good how are you good so your friend is

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 4:

just talking to this guy or initially in like a beginning part of a relationship with this guy

02:20:07 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 5:

well they're just talking right now but I know it's going somewhere for sure like she really likes him and I think he likes her

02:20:15 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 4:

and how long has it been since you've been in a relationship with him and how big of a relationship were you in with him

02:20:21 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 5:

oh my god it was nothing I mean well I won't say that we hooked up basically for like a month but that was it we didn't have like a okay like a relationship huh yeah wow okay and how long ago was that that was a while ago that was like a year ago and i don't know a year is not a while a year ago is is like yesterday well yeah i mean it's it wasn't it wasn't yesterday really but it

02:20:56 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 4:

was like just a year ago um so you noticed that these two are liking each other has she been talking to you about him i mean obviously yes yeah yeah does he know your friends with her

02:21:13 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 2:

um yes that's my question like as a man would the guy not say something like if you were the guy

02:21:23 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

02:21:24 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 2:

Like, would you not say to the new girl, like, oh, that's your friend? Like, just so you know, we used to talk or something.

02:21:32 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 3:

I've been in both situations where, and I agree, it is better if your current knows who they've dealt with. Because you never want to make her look like a fool in front of the other girl or have that other girl give her the aha, I got you moment. And she looking at you like you didn't tell me you was with her.

02:21:51 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, also, they're friends, so, like, she should have her back and say, like, just so you have, like, the full story and you don't, because could you imagine if she finds out later?

02:22:03 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:22:03 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 6:

And, like, you just said, like, then you're, like, why did you not ever tell me?

02:22:07 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 4:

Who's it better hearing it from? I think it's better hearing it from your friend. Oh, friend. Yeah.

02:22:12 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 6:

Really? You say, guy, a million percent, I would want to hear it from my friend. Okay. Yeah.

02:22:16 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE or text is 95500. zero. Do you think that Katie is an a-hole because she hooked up with the guy that her friend is now starting to date? Like, do you think that she's an a-hole for not saying anything about that? Um, how was he by the way, Katie? Oh my God. I don't, I'm not saying

02:22:39 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 2:

anything about that. Obviously good if it lasted for that long. But I gotta tell you

02:22:43 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 6:

something. I don't, how long did I miss? How long have they been talking? This is like

02:22:47 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 5:

in the in the new stages you said yeah the new stage i mean like a cup like a couple like actually

02:22:53 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 6:

it's been like a couple okay so you need to tell her sooner than later what are you waiting i feel

02:22:58 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 5:

like it's already i feel like she's already gonna be upset that's how i feel now like the worst like it gets worse like the longer i wait for sure do it before they bake cookies we already

02:23:11 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 6:

have they've been together for a couple months they it's that's what i'm saying it's too late

02:23:15 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask this question of you guys. Would you date somebody that dated one of your friends or fooled around with one of your friends? No, I couldn't. Not and then serious. I think guys would have a harder time, but I wonder if girls would, too. Would you guys?

02:23:27 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 6:

Huh. I think it would, like, my answer right off the bat would be no. However, if I'm being really honest, I think it would depend, like, you know, if they dated that person, like, in high school or something. I'd be like, okay.

02:23:40 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 2:

And, like, how close of a friend was it? Like, if it's, like, one of my best friends, heck no. But if it's like someone I know. Yeah, there are some factors there.

02:23:47 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 4:

Lexi, am I the a-hole? Is Katie an a-hole for not telling her friend that she one time hooked up with the guy that she's with?

02:23:57 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

I think she is because just listening to it, it kind of sounds like she hate him a little bit. Because why are you waiting until she starts deeply talking to him and now she likes him? And then you still not going to say nothing? You going to wait for him to say something? What if you already told her? That's what I'm saying. I mean, you said months.

02:24:17 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 6:

You should have been calling us for this months ago.

02:24:22 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, I see your point. God. I just, like, chickened out a little bit, and now I'm, like, having trouble getting it going. So now I feel like I just need it. And now you're on the radio.

02:24:34 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's true. She just brought up a good point, though. What if he already told her, and she's waiting on you to say something? No, he didn't. That would be crazy.

02:24:41 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:24:41 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 5:

I don't think he did. I don't think he did.

02:24:44 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 4:

Rochelle, what's up? Am I the a-hole? Is Katie an a-hole?

02:24:47 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. So I don't think that you're an a-hole. However, I think that you definitely need to tell her before he does and tell her exactly how you told us.

02:25:00 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 6:

It was for about a month. It didn't mean nothing to me. It didn't mean nothing to him. It was what it was. I didn't want to say anything because I didn't know it was going to get serious. And even if he didn't tell you, it's because it didn't mean nothing to neither one of us.

02:25:14 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 2:

That kind of comes off actually really good to do that. Like, hey, I just want to let you know if you can, you know.

02:25:20 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's how I did mine.

02:25:21 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you did. Exactly.

02:25:23 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 4:

Just so you know, it was a one-time thing, but I know y'all know each other. Y'all work together. Whoa, Kevin. I guess, well, there was some shock, but they appreciated the fact that I told them. Because, again, they don't want to walk into a room and somebody has not necessarily a one-up on them, but they want to be aware of the situation.

02:25:48 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 7:

She continued talking to you after that? Oh, for sure. It was locked in.

02:25:52 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Alex? It's Mojo in the morning. Am I the a-hole?

02:25:55 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I don't think she's the a-hole. I mean, she hooked up with her before her friend knew her. If she's trying to get back with the guy or does stuff with the guy, yeah, that would make her an a-hole. But she should absolutely tell her friend and be like, hey, just so you know, we used to hook up. We're not a thing anymore. We won't be a thing again. But she should tell her friend because it's going to come out eventually.

02:26:17 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

Hey, do you even talk to this guy on a casual basis anymore, Katie? Or are you guys just completely? no not i mean no not at all okay so so it's at least it's something where you're not in his life still ashley what's up do they hang out as a group well that was that i asked her if they hang out but it sounds like they don't but do you guys ever go out as a group together like you and

02:26:44 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 8:

your your friend and this guy we haven't yet but like if they you know if they get serious you never know so like but we have not yet why what do you want to say about that ashley but like he

02:26:55 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 2:

knows she's like they're friends right yeah you're saying that he knows that does he know that you're friends with her katie yeah that he knows he knows um have you guys had like a

02:27:09 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 7:

conversation together when you're gonna tell this girl or like are you just equally avoiding it

02:27:15 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 8:

no i think we're equally avoiding it but now like the more i'm hearing about this i'm like I better say something that's how I'm starting to feel I think I think you should say something

02:27:28 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 7:

because realistically would you want her to say something to you yeah totally I absolutely would

02:27:38 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 2:

then I would sit down and have that conversation yeah how would you take it if you found out that your friend was with the guy that you want to be with i mean i don't know ashley sorry ashley

02:27:51 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 7:

yeah i don't know i think i think it might be a hard pill to swallow depending on how deep in i would be with him but at the same time it was also a year ago so yeah so it was over and done

02:28:03 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 6:

with right um monique what'd you want to say yes i don't think i don't think he's a-hole but i I probably would have waited just to make sure they were serious. I wouldn't have made it months like she did now, but I would have waited a couple of weeks, maybe a month. Once she starts saying that they're getting serious, then I'm like, hey, look, we did hook up back in the day. I didn't tell you immediately because I didn't know where it was going, but now that I see it's going in that direction, I just wanted you to know that we did have a thing. It was a thing, nothing serious.

02:28:31 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't have even waited that long. As soon as my friend's like, hey, I met this guy, shows me a picture of his social media, i'd be like i actually i hooked up with i did or i know immediately i would yeah yeah yeah i get

02:28:46 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 6:

that but then what if they like the damn that might have turned her off and they might be like the perfect couple it might be cinderella great point great point but also if that turned her off

02:28:58 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 3:

that says something about like you know that she wouldn't she wasn't interested it wasn't meant to be. I don't know. Darian, you

02:29:07 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 2:

had a question?

02:29:09 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I was curious because how long have they been friends for? Because if that was the case, why didn't their friend know when they were together for that month?

02:29:17 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 3:

Great point. She said they were just hooking up, though.

02:29:20 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, all my friends don't know the people I be dealing with. Do you guys never tell your friends about, you know, the people that you guys hook up with? I mean, I guess depending on how close they are as friends, though.

02:29:29 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 4:

No, I got some best friends that don't know what I be doing. And Katie, you did not share this with her.

02:29:35 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 8:

no i mean we've gotten closer since then anyway okay all right that makes sense all right am i

02:29:41 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 2:

the a-hole i don't know what you're gonna do but you have any idea what are you gonna tell her i

02:29:47 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 8:

think yeah i think i came on here for a good reason you guys have like made it clear i need

02:29:52 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

to do it sooner the better yeah yeah all right thanks for the call and thanks for being on with

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Somebody yesterday was telling me that Morgan Wallen tickets have skyrocketed, the price of these things. So people sold them out. They sold out two shows of over 120,000 tickets. And they're saying that the ticket prices right now are on the secondary market, like SeatGeek, for double the price. Would you ever consider selling those? Mine is a gift from a friend, and I'm going with a friend. Could you imagine he shows up, and there's two different people? Two randoms. We have a chance for you to win Morgan Wallen tickets right after this. Don't go anywhere.

02:30:40 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 7:

So this podcast lets us uncover all of that together. We're going to have these meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people. Like when actress Olivia Munn shared how she overcame fierce health challenges that she never saw coming.

02:32:04 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 2:

I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer. And that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartum depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety.

02:32:13 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Olympic champ Shawn Johnson revealed why she had no choice but to be a gymnast.

02:32:18 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 1:

There was something about gymnastics that was intoxicating to me. It's given me a belief that we all have one of those treasures inside of us. We just have to find it.

02:32:37 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 7:

If you haven't heard, our new podcast is called Hey Jonas. And this week, we're hanging out with someone we're really big fans of. Millie Bobby Brown. That's right. Eleven herself. We talk about her new movie, Enola Holmes 3, Family Life, and all the amazing things she has going on right now.

02:32:52 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 8:

This blew my mind when I saw this, Millie Bobby Brown. You have over 60 animals. First of all, how do you even keep track of everybody? And second, do you have favorites? Who are they and why? Yeah, I need to know about this.

02:33:03 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I don't know where the number's 60. I've really got to figure that out. And I could actually have over 60. I just need to really know that number. There have been plenty of sheep in my bed. It's a big bed. In the bed, literally sleeping in the bed, yeah.

02:33:19 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 8:

Plus, we find out what she really feels about Stranger Things ending. Five seasons, almost 10 years of your life.

02:33:25 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 1:

02:33:28 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 8:

Our conversation with Millie Bobby Brown is out now. Go check it out. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

02:33:46 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show.

02:33:53 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Women are an interesting breed. You guys are very interesting people. Because this, to me, seemed a little diabolical. But it seemed to women as, oh, yeah, we do that from time to time. So we were out. Chelsea and I were out with some friends, a group of friends. Met this new couple. They're nice people. really nice people and um we're all hanging out at this place and this guy and a woman walk in together and um when they walked in together everybody knew them and i look and go oh that guy looks familiar and then i realized oh it's somebody that's well known okay and i'm not going to say who it is celebrity uh definitely celebrity-ish yes was it you uh yeah listen i'm i'm not a celebrity i am all the famer thank you um no so we're hanging out there and i um am noticing that uh the woman that i just met walked up towards

02:35:00 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 4:

this couple and started talking to them and then kind of you know talked a little bit more to him than talking to her and then kind of talked a little bit more and then kind of talked a little bit more and then came back over to the table and when they came back over to the table they said yeah i just flirted with him a little bit more just to piss her off wait i was like what

02:35:27 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 5:

wife? She didn't like the wife?

02:35:29 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 4:

I think it was his girlfriend. So she went over there just to flirt with this person, this guy in front of his girl to kind of set his girl off a little bit. And I thought, how often does this happen? Do women do this? Because if a guy did it, a guy would get his ass whooped, right? I mean, he'd get beat up if you go over and start flirting with a girl in front of their guy but a woman goes over and can flirt with a guy i'm surprised that a woman would be you know not wanting to beat his ass or beat her there are some women who would do yeah have you ever done this though have you ever have you ever been out in public have any of you guys ever been out in public uh saw somebody that was with their significant other and you said you know i'm gonna go over there and i'm gonna talk to them extra long just so that they're significant that they're with or their boyfriend or their girlfriend gets pissed. Y'all don't seem like y'all got that energy.

02:36:29 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:36:30 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 4:

By the way, this is interesting too because this woman did not seem like she had that energy and she had that energy.

02:36:35 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 5:

I want to know more of the story of why she hates the girlfriend or the wife so much. Yeah.

02:36:41 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 3:

What's that history? I feel like sometimes people don't even need a reason. They just want to show that they can have what you have.

02:36:50 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't like that.

02:36:51 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Like, it does something for them.

02:36:53 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 2:

It's like malicious energy.

02:36:54 - 02:37:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I have talked to women before that said in a means to test the man that they're with and understand how he'll react in certain situations, they have flirted with other men in his presence. And depending upon how he responds, that's like their gaze. Like, okay, he got it. He can protect me or I like that about him. He'll fight for me. Like, that type of thing.

02:37:19 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 4:

They just want to piss him off.

02:37:21 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

I want to see how he reacts in certain situations.

02:37:24 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to know if there are any listeners that have ever openly flirted with somebody that was there with their significant other in front of them, and you did it just to piss that person that they were with off.

02:37:46 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 2:

I feel like you just wrote this in one of your topics about when you were at the concert and you flirted with the girl.

02:37:51 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I didn't I didn't know, though. So when we went to go shout out to J.G., who is listening.

02:37:56 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 5:

Hi, J.G.

02:37:57 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 3:

So we went to go see Chappelle and there was a couple. I didn't realize this, but there was a couple sitting behind us. And the woman, I guess, was like she was coming in her chair. You know, sometimes like your knees will bump the person in front of you. And I guess she had bumped J.G. and I didn't really feel anything. but like I heard her continuously like I'm so sorry I'm so sorry I'm so sorry and then I looked at JJ I'm like she sound fine as hell and then I turned around and I looked and I was like she was like I'm so sorry I'm so sorry and I was like no you good I was just looking to see how you look and she was like and I was like you sounded fine as hell you are fine as hell and her man was right there he was like I agree he was like he's right he's great that could have went the wrong way I was like I ain't mean it like that bro how would you feel

02:38:40 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 4:

if a guy did that to your girl would you be he played it so cool

02:38:44 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I would.

02:38:44 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 5:

I feel like you would be so cool in that situation.

02:38:47 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 3:

I think it all just depends on that day, in that moment. Like, somebody tell you your girl looked fine as hell in front of you, that's kind of like, I'm down, bro. I was made up, bitch. Down.

02:38:58 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 4:

For real, bite her head off. What's up, Felicia?

02:39:02 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how are you guys?

02:39:03 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's going on?

02:39:05 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 1:

First off, I'm a long-time listener, first-time caller. Hey, Felicia, let's go. i'm not 100 sure if this is really considered flirting well i guess it kind of started that way but back in high school grade nine to be specific i had my nose broken by someone i thought was my friend uh turns out she wasn't well 15 years later i ran i ran into her with a guy that we actually went to school with and she was dating um which i found out that same day was the reason why my nose got broken because apparently he had a crush on me and she wasn't too happy about it because they were seeing each other. Yeah. End of story. Let's just say he and I have been now 10 years married this August. Oh, my God. Amazing little boy. Yeah, amazing little boy and a beautiful life together. very happy so um i guess i got my revenge in the end wow that's crazy though that she purposely broke your nose how did oh yeah how did she do it with her fist um actually in high school there was like an area where the kids would go outside and smoke and whatever and i had walked from the front doors down to the nearest park because i actually was seeing somebody else again grade nine um and i had walked down to the park because he went to a different high school and as i was walking down i turn around and the entire smoke area is following me i don't know what's happening i have no idea i'm thinking it's somebody else maybe getting into a fight until i got to the entrance of the park and that entire part of the entire um smoking area they just stood around me in a circle and then she came to the center and i thought what is happening i've never been in a fight in my life that was my one and only fight wow so she actually sure

02:40:57 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 5:

enough yeah she attacked these canadian girls yeah oh that's a maple syrup that's crazy wow uh what's going on lanisha are you there yeah hey hi lanisha are you the type of person that would flirt with a guy in front of his woman no absolutely not no uh my sister my sister had a

02:41:24 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 2:

birthday party for her 23rd birthday and it was hosted at my house i had started uh when like when when most of the people had got there i had told everybody like this is my man right here there's plenty of other men around you know you go talk to them um her friend proceeds to keep on walking up to my my man her friends proceeds to keep on walking up to my man different times of the night i'm trying to keep it cool she walks up to him and they talking and they smiling i say and They take a picture. She takes a picture with him. I'm like, all right, listen. Listen, I already told you. There's plenty of other people around here. This is mine. Like, I'm like, you about to really make me mad. We about to take this outside. Be respectful. Go talk to somebody else.

02:42:08 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 5:

And did she leave?

02:42:11 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

No, but she did start crying and stuff. And my sister was like, oh, you ruined my party? I'm like, listen, I kept it chill the whole night. I really should have did it.

02:42:20 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask you this, though. was he really your man or did you meet him that night and you just laid claim to him no that is mine that's my baby daddy when you saw them continually talking and taking pictures

02:42:36 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 2:

did you cuss him out yes he said she keep coming up to me asking me to do stuff i'm like and when i when i made the announcement at the beginning of the party you didn't get her the full warning that And I'm going to whoop both y'all.

02:42:51 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 4:

In my house?

02:42:53 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Right. It's funny. As a guy, I want my woman to fight for me like that. I really do. Like, I want that to happen. A little territory. My wife would have let me go home with them. She would pay for the Uber. I'm looking at this thing going, Lanisha's over there. She's like, I'm going to beat your ass. Chelsea would be like, yes, finally got rid of her. Hey, can you do me a favor? Can you show up tomorrow and get the rest of his clothes? Like, you know what I mean? It's like one of those things. Oh, my gosh. What's up, Jennifer? Hi. What's going on?

02:43:23 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to call Mojo in the morning.

02:43:25 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is Mojo in the morning. What's happening? You're calling him.

02:43:28 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Awesome. Okay, so, yes, this is the thing. This happens all the time. It just happens to me on the 4th of July, and I had to tell a family member, and this is a family member who I know likes to mess around with her friends, boyfriends, and family members, boyfriends. I just saw her shut out. He don't need your help. He don't need you to check on him. And I just said it. Later on that night, he confirmed, yes, he noticed. She kept walking past, brushing her hips against him and stuff. No, no, no, no, no. Faith is not the cousin that you want checking on your man. And I advise you to let her know, don't hold it in. And respectfully, and you can still love her. But if you know you got a faith in your family, you better check her right away.

02:44:15 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 4:

Why do you think Faith is doing this?

02:44:19 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I have no idea why she likes to mess with other people, men, or she just likes to mess with women or men that have women already. I really don't know, but it's a pattern, and I haven't even really been in a relationship that long. I'm usually not in a relationship, so I wasn't going to let that fly out. That bitch was a hoe.

02:44:42 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 4:

If Faith listening right now, what would you say to her?

02:44:45 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 3:

I love you, but, girl, just don't, mm-mm.

02:44:52 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 5:

You mess with my man. Yeah. Wasn't that a song?

02:44:55 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 3:

This is what I would say. Don't mess with my man. Don't mess with my man. And off his D.

02:44:59 - 02:45:00 | Unknown:

Oh. Thanks.

02:45:00 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 6:

By the way, and this is at a family holiday party. I just want you to know that. What did you guys serve at the party? What kind of food did you guys have there?

02:45:09 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 8:

Barbecue. It was the 4th of July.

02:45:11 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 6:

We had ribs, sausage.

02:45:14 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 8:

Yes.

02:45:15 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 6:

I like it.

02:45:15 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 8:

And I know she's part. If she woke and out, she's listening. Because she's the one who reminded me to listen to y'all.

02:45:22 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 6:

Faye. You watch out, Faye.

02:45:23 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 8:

Stay off that D. Oh, first time, long time.

02:45:26 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That is crazy. What a story that you just told. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

02:45:42 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 8:

Love you guys. Have a blessed day. Mwah, you too. Call more. Girl, you need to check your pasta.

02:45:48 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Zoran?

02:45:50 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, dude, that used to be my biggest pickup line. I would walk up to a girl and hit on her if her man was there.

02:45:56 - 02:45:59 | Speaker 1:

I told you not to say that

02:45:59 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm glad he did So Zoran actually told you off the air in the text Zoran goes For those that don't hear it I wasn't expecting that I walked right up Can I F your woman

02:46:12 - 02:46:31 | Speaker 7:

Well look Here's the thing though If the guy said she can do what she wants I'm getting played Has that ever worked for you Every time every single time but if he hit me he was getting laid wow okay either way somebody was so you

02:46:31 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 6:

actually got laid by walking up to a girl in front of the guy and said can i f you uh yeah

02:46:36 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 7:

well i did i heard she'd be like my man's here i'm like well let's see if he's got a problem with it oh my god that's crazy this craziness so how many fights did you get into well i walk up bold as bold as everything and ask him hey you care if i take your woman yeah so what what happened

02:46:54 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 5:

more times you getting your ass beat or you getting some ass dude most of the time i've never

02:47:00 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 7:

had my ass beat but i've been hit a couple times obviously but nine times out of ten that guy's so

02:47:09 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 6:

cocky he's like she can do what she wants wow that's craziness ron what's up it's mojo in the

02:47:15 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 9:

morning bro mojo my heart is heavy man i got one of my exes beat up bro you got one of your exes beat up why what happened so we was at this little kickback or whatever and this girl come in and she started flirting with me real tough and my girl you know off that liquid encouragement she wasn't having it and you know she tried to throw hands with the girl but the other girl was like a gold gloves boxer like men's cutters oh my god no my ex got touched up i'm like get him felicia By the way, guys should never break up women fighting. What do I do?

02:47:58 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 6:

I'd rather break up guys fighting than break up women fighting. Why? Because you're going to get nails and all kinds of stuff put in your eyes. You don't want to do that. Hold on. Vicky, last call. What's up?

02:48:10 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 4:

So you had said that like Chelsea would be like, hey, go ahead. She'd probably just say, like, hey, where can I drop his laundry off?

02:48:18 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 6:

You know?

02:48:19 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 4:

I mean, like.

02:48:20 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. Call him to Uber. No.

02:48:22 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 4:

I'd do the same to mine, so.

02:48:25 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 6:

Thank you for the call. All I can think of is Zoran. The guy Zoran that called us. That was a nutty call.

02:48:31 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 10:

02:49:11 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 10:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:49:13 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 3:

All right, what's going on in the dirty, Shannon? Well, Team USA is out of the World Cup. Belgium knocked us out last night with a 4-1 win in Seattle. So it is over, and our very Italian coach, who I can barely understand, Mauricio Pochettino's frustration, boiled over on the sideline. Here were his thoughts after the game.

02:49:36 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Mauricio, I know this wasn't the performance you were looking for, In your opinion, what was missing tonight?

02:49:42 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I think everyone saw. From the beginning, we didn't connect with the game. We never were on the game. Even when we scored and we scored the goal, 1-1, we conceded in the next action. It was really tough from the beginning.

02:50:00 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 2:

You know who everybody's coming down on today? What's his name? Christian Pelusiek or whatever his name is. The guy that is like the superstar on that team. He's like their star. A lot of people say that he was a nothing. A lot of people unhappy with him because he's like our guy. He's the face of the team. He's Captain America. And he kind of didn't show up, obviously, yesterday's game. But he hasn't really – he really didn't have a great World Cup. So I'm surprised the U.S. doesn't go out and, like, pay more for players. Like, get these guys like Cristiano Ronaldo. No, like, these guys – You got to pay for your country. They play pro soccer here. Why not let them – make them play on our team?

02:50:48 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 3:

They're not from here.

02:50:49 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 2:

But a lot of people say that that's kind of what, you know, you'll see sometimes happen is that these other countries will pay these guys to come and play for them.

02:50:58 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 4:

It's not like the Olympics, is it? Where you don't have to be from that country to play on that team. I thought it was. No, I don't think it is.

02:51:07 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Is it? Matter of fact, the Olympics, they don't have to be here either. They can, you know.

02:51:11 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, no.

02:51:12 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 3:

You have to. I think you have to have citizenship. Yeah. Like Joel Embiid. Right? I think he was born in, I can't remember exactly where he was born, but he's not from America, but he played for the American basketball team. He's from Cameroon. That's where he's from.

02:51:27 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 1:

Wemby or whatever, play for...

02:51:28 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

He played for France. He's from France, though.

02:51:30 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 2:

But I think what you do is you offer up the opportunity. Like citizenship or something? Yeah. We're going to give you lots of home. Were these coaches not from the United States?

02:51:40 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's what I was going to say. So according to Google, it says you do not have to be born in the country you represent in the World Cup. Players can represent any nation for which they hold a valid passport, provided they can prove...

02:51:53 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 4:

Which that's easy to get.

02:51:54 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, a genuine link to that country. Dave Portnoy was great last night, though. Dave Portnoy said, it's time for us to draft players like they did the old military. We need to draft, like, LeBron, like, all the best athletes that are American athletes. You're no longer playing basketball. You are now playing soccer. We're making you go out there and play.

02:52:13 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 4:

They are back together under the same roof. Dana Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are living together again. She moved back in with him. This actually happened, like, two years ago. We are all just now finding out about it after lots of rumors and speculation about the status of their relationship. I did see they spent the 4th of July holiday together as well in Philadelphia. He was hosting some sort of celebration there. She was there with him.

02:52:36 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Was it in West Philadelphia? Yeah, never mind. Good, Kevin.

02:52:41 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 4:

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce's wedding pulled in a guest list of right around 1,000 people. And a handful of names are still having fans do a double take this morning of like, why did that person get invited? Carly Kloss being one of them. Lydia, you know this. Once inseparable besties, Taylor and Carly had a falling out back in 2018. They were really never seen together since then. Apparently, quietly patched things up. Kristen Cavallari was a weird one for me. She once dated an actor who appeared in a Taylor video. She also had Travis Kelsey on her podcast a couple of years ago where she admitted she once had a crush on him. So I know Swifties are still trying to connect the dots with that one. And the Chainsmokers, I think they collaborated with Taylor on a remix for something. They were there? They did for Fate of Ophelia. Yeah, and Travis is a fan, but people were still going, really? They made the list for the wedding?

02:53:42 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 2:

I have not heard about Stevie Nicks in her performance. Did Stevie Nicks?

02:53:46 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 4:

She did perform.

02:53:47 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I'm surprised. What did she perform? What was the song? Do we know? Because I've heard the Paul McCartney song, but I did not hear the Stevie Nicks one.

02:53:55 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 3:

Jewels in the can. I think that was the name of it.

02:53:58 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 2:

What? You're so full of it. He's making something out. All right.

02:54:01 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, this is a crazy and beautiful story. A 28-year-old Navy veteran from Pensacola, Florida, is recovering after waking up days before his planned funeral. Ethan Prusso had been declared brain dead by doctors, okay? His family had gathered at the hospital for, have you ever seen they do those honor walks before organ donation takes place? After life support was removed, his family noticed him responding to commands, started to move, stuck out his tongue, waved. I mean, it was a true miracle.

02:54:38 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 1:

The one doctor did say, he goes, I can definitely see this in the medical books in the future because they are all baffled. I mean, the doctors are baffled, the nurses are baffled.

02:54:50 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 4:

He's now smiling, laughing, and using sign language to communicate.

02:54:54 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that crazy?

02:54:55 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 4:

They're planning his funeral. 28 years old. Wow. Navy veteran.

02:55:00 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 2:

It's like Charlie, not Charlie.

02:55:02 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Willow? It's like Willow. Honestly, it kind of is. Kind of is. All right, if you miss anything from today's show, go back, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app.

02:55:12 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Go. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:55:21 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 1:

War of the Roses. If you think that you're being cheated on, text CHEATER to 95500.

02:55:27 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:55:33 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 1:

Kristen thinks that her husband is cheating. Who do you think he's cheating with, Kristen?

02:55:41 - 02:55:43 | Speaker 4:

I think it's his ex-wife.

02:55:44 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 1:

Here's the story. He went to go to visit or to pick up his son, right, for the summertime. Is that right?

02:55:55 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 4:

That's right. Yeah, his son lives in Arizona with his mother.

02:56:00 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 1:

And so when he went there, will you tell everybody where he stayed?

02:56:07 - 02:56:13 | Speaker 4:

My husband said he didn't want a hotel, so he stayed at his ex-wife's house for the night.

02:56:14 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 6:

And is that normal, or is he normally in a hotel when he does his switch?

02:56:18 - 02:56:22 | Speaker 4:

He normally stays in a hotel, so I found that to be alarming.

02:56:22 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 2:

How do we go from Obviously Very uncomfortable And sleeping in the same space with his ex-wife To you thinking they're cheating

02:56:31 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 4:

Well when he came back He Told me that They got drunk that night that he was there And that she was flirty with him At least he's being Honest it sounds like Yeah But like Something in my gut is telling me that there was more and that he's not telling me about. He gave you half of the story. That's what it feels like.

02:56:58 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 1:

Which all us guys know. Sometimes you just want to be able to say, well, at least I told you, you know. Give you enough to satisfy

02:57:06 - 02:57:07 | Speaker 2:

you for real.

02:57:08 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Okay, so could you imagine his son? I don't know if they did do anything, but imagine the son and how wild that would be, like his mom and

02:57:20 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 6:

dad.

02:57:22 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 1:

All right, and I cannot imagine you and how you feel now thinking that he's, you know, done this to you. So, all right, we're going to do a three-way call, War of the Roses. We're going to call up your husband, and then we're going to call up his ex-wife and the mother of his child, and we're going to do a three-way. You understand that once you do this, there's accusations that are now out there, and you understand that this is going to change a little bit of the dynamic.

02:57:52 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 4:

yeah um yeah i know and i'll know i'll know when i hear when i hear them i'll know whether it's

02:58:00 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 1:

it's for real or not okay all right war of the roses we'll do a three-way call

02:58:05 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 5:

hello

02:58:15 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 6:

hello hello hello hello hey is everything okay yeah it's fine is everything okay with you

02:58:32 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 5:

um yeah it's like you scared the out of me it's like really early here you know that right

02:58:39 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 6:

yeah it's uh that's why i was confused because like i was like why is she calling me so early I thought something was wrong, but, no, yeah, I'm just sitting here getting my morning going, and my phone rang. I was like, why would she call? Like, what happened? Why would this happen?

02:59:01 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 5:

Um, okay, well, that's really weird, because I didn't call you, and I don't know, maybe something was wrong, or maybe you were okay?

02:59:13 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm good. I'm good. We're good. As long as you're good. I'm just having a good morning. How's your morning going? What's going on over there?

02:59:22 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Um, not much. I mean, I was mostly still asleep, and I just, you scared me when I saw that you were calling. Like, you know, it's really early, but then, I don't know. Then I guess I thought maybe you missed me or something. I'm not sure.

02:59:41 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I always miss you. i was actually just thinking about you i was just like i saw this tiktok video that reminded me of you and it's so weird that the but i don't know what happened with the phones whatever but um yeah that's kind of cool that that uh you i want to say that you called me but you didn't call me but i don't know yeah it's weird because i was just

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 3:

thinking about you um interesting okay well um what were you thinking about like are you

03:00:13 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 4:

good oh yeah it's always good no i was you know i'm always thinking about you but now i just saw the stupid video and i was like oh my god she would love that why don't you just uh

03:00:25 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, since we're talking and thinking about each other, are you planning on staying with me again in September?

03:00:42 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sure. I was kind of just thinking about what happened, and I kind of honestly feel a little guilty about it. Um, I, I obviously do have to, so I'm not sure how that'll all play out, but if I do, we probably should just, I mean, maybe I should get a hotel room this time or something so that, you know, we just, I gotta be careful, you know, and you should be careful, but. um okay yeah i guess you're right um um i mean i had i had fun i had like a good time but i mean that's kind of what scares me like it was almost like too much fun and i'm like i just gotta pull back a little bit because i gotta remember like you know i'm married now again you're married now again so it's just we gotta like we just gotta keep that in mind it's not like we you know we

03:01:41 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 3:

just gotta like kind of yeah I mean we also have history and a kid together so I you know I'm not sure why you're feeling guilty necessarily but I yeah I

03:02:00 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 4:

I hear you I get it I mean I had a car I mean we had it was great to hang out with you again have a few drinks you know do what we did but like yeah but I we just have to you just have to be smart about it and um you know because I don't I don't know we just

03:02:21 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm just trying to think through this are you saying like you just never want that to happen again or just so I know no not yeah no not that at all like I I would be cool if it I would be

03:02:35 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 4:

cool to happen again but i just i just trying to navigate my own guilt or my own life or like you know i just want to be i don't want to like get i don't want to get caught doing anything and

03:02:49 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 1:

we just need to do you feel guilty about the fact that that you did what you did or do you feel guilty about the fact because it doesn't sound like you want to stop this Peter do you feel guilty that that you're married and you're also messing around with a married woman or do you feel guilty over the fact that this is something kind of weird for your son to have to deal with maybe i should explain who i am peter peter this is what is this peter this is the mojo in the morning show and your wife kristin contacted us because she was worried that you were fooling around with your ex-wife and obviously something must have happened between the two of

03:03:52 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 3:

you guys your wife's going on right now

03:03:58 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 1:

kristin do you want to say anything to him or do you want to say anything to his ex-wife

03:04:06 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 2:

honestly like i am just like i knew it i knew it in my gut but like to have it confirmed and to hear how just callous you don't even feel bad you don't even recognize what you're doing like what the like you have history together your history stops when you get divorced and you remarry somebody else like how does that not make sense to you are you kidding

03:04:45 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 3:

i am really confused about what is going on right now uh you're caught don't be so confused you're

03:04:56 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

caught you've been caught what's going on is that

03:05:00 - 03:05:24 | Speaker 4:

confusing kristin contacted us here at the mojo in the morning show we're a radio show in detroit and she asked us to find out if there was something that happened between her husband and you and i think that she just found out some of the worst news that she could possibly hear on a day like today

03:05:30 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 3:

And they hung up, they hung up the, uh, the phone, Kristen.

03:05:39 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm not really surprised. Like, how long have you guys, you guys been together? You said they were, they've been divorced for five years. Yeah, we got married three years ago.

03:05:52 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 4:

All right. It's going to be, it's going to be a long summer. Hang on, hang on one second. Okay.

03:06:00 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 5:

All right. Busted again. It's your home for War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. Channel 955. And 1045 SNX. And 92.5 KISS FM. And iHeart Radio Station. Guaranteed human. Call Mojo in the Morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548

03:06:34 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 4:

Here's what we know with the War of the Roses and I want to give you an update on a few things that we found out after that three-way call, War of the Roses You just heard just a few moments ago a wife suspicious that her husband is cheating with his ex-wife and mother of his child Here's what we know The child is seven years old The ex-wife lives in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Shout out to John Jay and Rich and our friends out there. And she is married. And we left a lot in on this one, although I got to tell you, I was a little worried about some of the stuff that we, you know, needed to edit out because there was a lot of stuff, a lot of personal about the child. And I wanted to make sure that we didn't get to that. So this is an interesting one because it's an X and I, you know, I always sit there and I go, when they have kids together, you hope that their relationship can be a good one for the child. Just not this good.

03:08:17 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, you know, with a big line in boundaries.

03:08:22 - 03:08:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's definitely no boundaries there. What do you think about the idea that he, and I want to ask the listeners this too, that he stayed at her place?

03:08:30 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 1:

No way. I mean, I know you have a different opinion.

03:08:34 - 03:08:38 | Speaker 6:

You two have different opinions. Maybe it was a financial thing.

03:08:38 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 1:

I just don't think that it is appropriate, especially considering both are in other relationships.

03:08:46 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:08:47 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 4:

I think the confusion for the child, too. I think it's very confusing if a child sees his parents who are no longer together. Together.

03:08:57 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 6:

I could see that. I mean, what if she has her room and he's on the couch?

03:09:02 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 1:

Right. But again, like, if there's a spouse at home who, you know, is uncomfortable by that, or I don't know why you wouldn't just get a hotel.

03:09:13 - 03:09:13 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:09:13 - 03:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Especially if your spouse wasn't home. Do you think it would be acceptable if it was like you and your new spouse and then the ex needed some place to stay?

03:09:23 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 4:

If he was home, I think it would be more appropriate, right?

03:09:26 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 6:

We don't know. I don't know. Y'all know. I didn't ask any questions about that. But we don't know his finances. We don't know if something got canceled. I don't know if that's how they set it up or if something happened.

03:09:37 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 4:

What about doing this? What about flying to Arizona, picking up child at the airport, and flying right back? Like, why even stay?

03:09:46 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Then, you know, there's no financial argument there because you don't need to pay for a hotel.

03:09:51 - 03:09:53 | Speaker 4:

Alexia, what's up?

03:09:54 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Sorry, it's Alexia. But I have a comment for Kevin.

03:10:00 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 3:

I had to switch over to Heart Radio, so I'm a little few seconds behind. But I'm really confused on why Kevin seems to or seem to be defending the man when it's clear that he was cheating on his wife, talking about, well, maybe that's the financial status. Like, what are you talking about, Kevin?

03:10:19 - 03:10:36 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, it wasn't. I do think it's clear that they had sex and he cheated on her. I was more so saying the events that led up to them having to be in the same environment. We don't know why he actually stayed at the house. That's all I was saying.

03:10:37 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 3:

But there's no excuse to it. It just seems like you're kind of giving an excuse to him. Maybe this happened.

03:10:43 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 6:

No, I mean, I think what's not cool is thinking in this eight minutes, you got all the information. That's what I don't think is cool.

03:10:51 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 3:

I didn't get all the information. I immediately called when I heard you kind of sticking up for the possibilities of how it led to.

03:11:01 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 6:

I think we do a lot of assuming and jumping to conclusions. And all I'm saying is they're wrong, obviously. I think we're all in agreement there. All I'm saying is I'd like to know all the information that led up to the decision. That's all I'm saying.

03:11:15 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 7:

Of why.

03:11:16 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 6:

Why did they even put themselves in that predicament?

03:11:19 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 5:

Alexius, are you a hardcore listener? Do you know the show well at all? Because if not, I'll give you a little.

03:11:24 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, I listen every day. My daughter has called in with you guys. Oh, hang on. I'm sorry.

03:11:31 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 5:

So I think the reason that Alexius is saying this. Hi, Alexius. So I think the reason she's doing this is she knows that Kevin has had moments where he has spent the night at his ex and the mother of his child's house.

03:11:47 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 7:

Christmas miracle.

03:11:47 - 03:11:55 | Speaker 5:

And you're thinking that maybe Kevin's a little bit more, you know, okay with things.

03:11:56 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 6:

No, y'all just be wanting to kill the guy. Y'all be wanting to kill the guy every time.

03:12:00 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 7:

But to defend you, Kev, for that, the difference in that situation is both you and your ex were not in other relationships. There weren't other people involved who could have had a lot of feelings about you and Jasmine making, Josiah's mom making that decision. Well said.

03:12:15 - 03:12:29 | Speaker 3:

Exactly, that's the point. It's not just their feelings that are involved. There's people around them that are being affected. I do want to answer your question. We do listen every day, and my daughter listens, and we listen every Tuesday and Thursday. She wakes up, Mommy, where's the roses?

03:12:29 - 03:12:31 | Speaker 5:

I love it. What's your daughter's name?

03:12:33 - 03:12:36 | Speaker 3:

Xiomara. She's not with me. She's with her dad. She's with her dad.

03:12:37 - 03:12:42 | Speaker 5:

We left him with his dad. Hold on real quick. LaBelle wants to make a comment about you. What's up, LaBelle?

03:12:42 - 03:12:59 | Speaker 4:

I do. I want to know why are you coming for Kevin? Kevin did not say anything to defend this man. Kevin said basically, simply, we don't know the situation. He made a statement that was a fact, and I am really wondering why are you coming for him?

03:13:01 - 03:13:17 | Speaker 3:

Because I wanted to understand why he felt the need to even be biased and even ask that question in the first place when it was very clear what was going on. I did, too. It just kind of felt insensitive to the current wife's situation with him asking a question like that.

03:13:17 - 03:13:37 | Speaker 4:

That's all. But he doesn't know either one of them, so he doesn't owe the current wife any type of sensitivity, number one. And then, number two, it seems that you already have a bias against him for you to take what he stated as defending the gentleman when it wasn't. It was just a sense.

03:13:37 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, there probably is a little bias I've been cheated on as well, But just in that moment, it just seems like defending him, in a way. Thank you, ladies. For trying to find him. Have you had a girl with you?

03:13:48 - 03:13:54 | Speaker 4:

You're taking your personal stuff out towards Kevin, possibly.

03:13:54 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. She did admit that she did get you done. Well, thank you, guys. Thank you, both. Thank you, both. I got to get to this next call. Voices Guys initial K. K, are you there?

03:14:06 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, good morning.

03:14:08 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. I mean, you want to be voices, guys, because you kind of relate to the situation.

03:14:14 - 03:15:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I'm not sure how to explain this, but I am the ex-wife who has hooked up with my ex-husband. And we have kids together. and um sometimes you have history with people and it just kind of happens it's not right what are the situations you have a connection with somebody you have kids together you're attached for life and you know it's not right i'm i'm personally in an open relationship It was fine with my partner, but for their dad, obviously. about it this is on him but i don't feel responsible for his decisions one way line

03:15:04 - 03:15:15 | Speaker 3:

of communication what are the situations that lead up to you guys hooking up is it a situation where like you're spending the night or you guys are meeting you know at that's in his house or

03:15:15 - 03:15:42 | Speaker 2:

and that's why i called because you've been talking about what does the kid think about this and so our situation is usually when there's really stressful things going on um i was married for 15 years and we know each other better than any person in our entire life and we don't let our kids know our kids aren't home it just happens

03:15:42 - 03:15:44 | Speaker 1:

and then it's fun

03:15:44 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 2:

it's not always the thing you think about our kids are involved and it's not right

03:15:55 - 03:15:57 | Speaker 4:

why don't you guys get back together

03:15:57 - 03:16:01 | Speaker 2:

When you have kids with somebody. What's that again?

03:16:01 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you guys get back together if you guys sound like you guys are enjoying each other's company?

03:16:09 - 03:16:23 | Speaker 2:

Because we don't belong in a relationship. We're just familiar with each other. Okay. And sometimes that person who's a comfort is just, it's familiar. It happens.

03:16:24 - 03:16:33 | Speaker 4:

Unfortunately for Christine, she's the innocent bystander and the guy that is married to Christine's ex. Okay. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

03:16:33 - 03:16:41 | Speaker 2:

My ex had gotten remarried, and because of this, they did get divorced.

03:16:41 - 03:16:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You led to their divorce?

03:16:43 - 03:16:46 | Speaker 2:

It's not something that should happen. It does happen.

03:16:47 - 03:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Do you feel bad that you led to their divorce?

03:16:50 - 03:16:58 | Speaker 2:

No, because part of what happened was his marriage wasn't going well and kept telling me, and so it was going to happen anyway.

03:16:59 - 03:17:00 | Speaker 4:

These guys still love each other.

03:17:00 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 2:

No, I do feel for that. There's love there, not a relationship, but there's love there.

03:17:05 - 03:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Interesting. Thank you for the call, Kay. I appreciate you so much for sharing your story with us, your personal story.

03:17:14 - 03:17:18 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, and nobody should do this, but it does happen.

03:17:19 - 03:17:29 | Speaker 4:

It does happen. Hold on, Charlene, real quick, and I can only give you 30 seconds, but give your comments on what you think about Christine, the new wife.

03:17:29 - 03:17:38 | Speaker 1:

She quoted the ex-wife saying, like, what do you mean you have history? She didn't quote anything that that husband had said, and that ex doesn't owe her anything. That husband is who owes her.

03:17:39 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:17:39 - 03:17:40 | Speaker 1:

She'll stay.

03:17:42 - 03:17:57 | Speaker 4:

Unfortunately. You think Christine's going to stay with her husband after hearing him talk to his ex-wife like that and knowing that they've been together? I do. Okay. We should all have people vote on this after War of the Roses. Listen to it and say whether or not you think that they'll stay or not.

03:17:57 - 03:17:59 | Speaker 3:

And then give an update.

03:17:59 - 03:18:00 | Speaker 4:

And then give an update. That's a great idea.

03:18:00 - 03:18:11 | Speaker 1:

So statistically, like how many, the percentage of people who have actually went through this heard the confirmation and stayed anyway. Oh, a lot.

03:18:11 - 03:19:23 | Speaker 4:

It's very big numbers. A lot. It's more than 50%. More than half of the War of the Roses that we do, they stay together. And honestly, a lot of the ones that you hear is because they have to both agree to allow us to be able to air the War of the Roses. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Yeah, you guys have a good one. Let's go back to the women fighting over Kevin. I love when women fight over Kevin. Alexius Maximus. Your home of War of the Roses, the five lives to tell your mom phone scams, and Shannon's Dirty on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. I mean, whenever I see a woman crying, I instantly think that something bad happened in their relationship. Like, if I see, like, somebody crying, I never, like, assume that maybe they heard a sad song or maybe, you know, they had something. I don't know. They were cutting the money. Going on. Yeah, cutting the money. You reduce women to relationships. I feel like any time I see that, yeah, like, see somebody crying, I figure. That's very evolved of me. i love um shannon was crying yesterday i was having a day yesterday it was just one of those

03:19:23 - 03:19:58 | Speaker 3:

days i think i don't know if if you're like this anna or guys too this is not just women but i am the type of person and i realize i'm doing it more and more lately which i don't like um where i like something will happen i'll have a thought about something or someone and i just like stuff it down stuff it down stuff it down instead of confronting it or talking to that person about it it was like a lot of that had started to bubble up for me yesterday layered on top of I've got a family member who is dealing with some pretty heavy stuff I made an appointment for my dog Charlie we talked about this yesterday to be seen by a vet on Saturday

03:20:00 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 1:

kind of give me like a realistic expectation of what's going on with him. And so I sat in the parking lot of Westbourne market in, I think it's Berkeley right there. And I was just like a mess and I'm like, okay, keep it together. You got to go in, you got to do some grocery shopping. And so I walk into the store, I get my car, I put my purse in my car and I start going through my list, like going through the produce section. And this, the sweetest listener of all time, her name's Ashley I did not know her but came up to me and introduced herself and said she was a fan of the show and I could see her eyes well up with tears and she's like I feel so dumb saying this to you but you are such an inspiration and you have gotten me through you know so many hard times and she's like I I just feel like I need to give you a hug she hugs me and I could just feel like the hot tears running down my face just in that moment. And I said to her, you don't have any idea how much I needed your hug in this moment. And so, you know, we talked for a second and I walked away and I had to like go into an aisle and just, I could like, I, and cry, because it was you know it was it was it made my whole entire day that somebody else thought that they needed a hug from me and I really needed that hug from her so I I put out like a a memo I don't know what else you call it like on my Instagram yesterday I'm like if this is you please reach out to me and she did because I didn't get a picture with her or anything I just knew her name and she ended up um sending me an instagram i'm like you don't even you have no idea what that meant and how bad like you were my angel in that moment how bad i needed that yeah she actually just uh sent me a message this morning too but could you imagine being the deli

03:21:52 - 03:21:59 | Speaker 2:

counter worker at the westbourne market with two two women crying we were in the produce section

03:21:59 - 03:22:18 | Speaker 1:

by the tomatoes we got enough boar's head for you it's okay you're in the produce section okay and she she was embarrassed that she wanted to give me a hug and was crying and i'm like i was it was just such overwhelming kindness that i needed in that moment all right i gotta hear i want to hear

03:22:18 - 03:22:24 | Speaker 2:

where is the most random place that you cried because i will say all the other shoppers are

03:22:24 - 03:22:31 | Speaker 1:

doing one of these pushing their carts by us i will never forget crying on a flight once i was

03:22:31 - 03:23:28 | Speaker 2:

on the i was on the flight and the person sitting i was going through some some tough stuff we were going through some tough stuff and i got on the flight and just had a conversation and i'm like on there and i just got kind of emotional and cry and i had my earpods in and i'm listening to a song and the song came on and it was like my sad list and it was jason moraz uh um i'm yours i'll never give up on you i think it was oh i'll never get whatever the heck it was i don't know how to sing it it'll make you cry singing it and i'm crying and literally the lady sitting next to me and she was a little old lady like little old lady like the nice ones in the adam sandler movies and she touches my leg and i'm like oh my god higher oh god oh my god no i take my earpod out and she goes it's gonna be okay honey and it was one of those situations i'm like oh thank you appreciate it boom and then and i'm thinking oh my god this is embarrassing like i'm on the

03:23:28 - 03:23:44 | Speaker 1:

no i love those moments do you i really do i mean i don't love crying in public that's not what i mean but i just love like connecting with people and i i really do feel like god sends you the people in those moments when you need them like that little old lady you were yeah you know kind

03:23:44 - 03:24:12 | Speaker 2:

of embarrassed but it was unbelievable I would have much rather been sitting next to some hottie that said you want to go to the bathroom you know the lavatory no no but I joke I'm kidding but um you know it's I would love to know like you know where is the place that you just randomly cried I've never seen you cry I don't think I've ever seen you cry do you feel like you should Even on sad things that we've had on our show Like sad moments

03:24:12 - 03:24:14 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I may have cried

03:24:14 - 03:24:18 | Speaker 2:

You hide it from me You just look like you're high all the time

03:24:18 - 03:24:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't know maybe there's Some other nationalities Inside of my blood sugar Inside my 23andMe But no I don't cry a lot I think I cry like I told you I cry every time I hear this Chris Brown song called 4 Years Old That always makes me think of my dad and play it mojo and me feeling like i have to that i mean i gotta be in the shower but that song always makes me cry um i cry watching kobe highlight reels if i think about my grandma or something like that potentially like losing her or something i'll cry if you feel that like

03:24:51 - 03:25:03 | Speaker 1:

you're gonna cry like this was me yesterday i had this frog in my throat and i'm like okay pull it together gotta go to a grocery store i am not one of those people that can just Let it, like, let it pass. It's coming out. It's coming out.

03:25:04 - 03:25:16 | Speaker 5:

If you see somebody cry in public, like, if somebody was there at the market with you and they saw you cry, like, do you feel like you want to go and comfort them and say, you know?

03:25:16 - 03:25:17 | Speaker 4:

I want to, sure.

03:25:17 - 03:25:22 | Speaker 5:

Like, I almost want to say, is everything okay? You know what I mean? Like, but I always wonder if people want that.

03:25:22 - 03:25:35 | Speaker 4:

Like, do you? Nine times out of ten, I'm like, you're never going to get a real answer. It's always going to be, no, I'm fine. Like maybe the one time somebody was like, you know what? This is what's happening. But more often than not, it's, no, I'm fine. Thank you.

03:25:36 - 03:25:45 | Speaker 5:

Texter here says that this is so funny that you bring this up because yesterday I cried at the Chipotle by my house.

03:25:45 - 03:25:52 | Speaker 4:

They're fed up. The last straw. Who cried in the strip club? I just feel like in my spirit somebody's done that.

03:25:53 - 03:25:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up, Kevin? How you doing?

03:25:55 - 03:26:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Y'all got me fresh on the air. Hey, how y'all doing? What's up, man? What's going on? So the one time I cried, I had a friend that worked at Pixar Studios. Wow. It's always been a dream job of mine, and she gave me a tour with my kids. And right when I got to the – if you guys ever been to Pixar, there's a big ball, like the logo with the light lamp. And I just started bursting out crying because it's always been my dream job and just having my kids there and everything. I know I sound emotional, but I'm trying to man up for Kev. But it was just really cool walking around and seeing, like, you know, being an animator myself, just seeing all the drawings and seeing all the different, you know, future projects. I even knew Toy Story 5 was coming out before it even came out. Wow.

03:26:42 - 03:26:43 | Speaker 4:

I need your number.

03:26:43 - 03:26:51 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, you got to stay on the phone here because Kevin's son, Josiah, you could be a good mentor for it.

03:26:51 - 03:26:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Okay. Oh, for sure, yeah. I'm a teacher. I'm an art teacher in the Bay Area in California.

03:26:56 - 03:27:05 | Speaker 4:

can lydia get your number for me and i'll reach out to you oh for sure hold on kev uh what's up

03:27:05 - 03:28:15 | Speaker 3:

dennis it's mojo in the morning hey mojo first time long time the menace hey yeah so this is more about when we cry and what happens yeah and like i'm not a religious person but when that person when that little old lady puts her hand on your knee and says it's going to be okay or with shannon uh getting that hug from a complete stranger to me that is god absolutely like god it's just within all of us and you know we get exactly what we need at the right moment and have you i'm very grateful have you ever been in a public place crying and it kind of caught you off guard oh absolutely i mean this is kind of one of the funnier places where i've cried when uh in yoga and i'm gonna downward i mean i'm gonna go into uh you know uh fetal position or whatever you know and i'm in there and all of a sudden the

03:28:15 - 03:28:26 | Speaker 5:

tears just start streaming and i'm like who cries in yoga it's so funny you say that because i i There was a period in my life where I did a bunch of yoga, and people would sob, crying.

03:28:27 - 03:28:35 | Speaker 1:

It's because you are alone with your thoughts. Like, yes, you are so in the zone, and your thoughts are just going. So I think that's what it is.

03:28:35 - 03:28:45 | Speaker 5:

I never really got emotional during it, but the people around me would get emotional, and you would watch them, and you're like, God, this is really wild. Like, you want to help out, but you want to let them have their moment there.

03:28:46 - 03:29:04 | Speaker 3:

And you can totally pick up on their energy. And, of course, afterwards, one of the other yogis comes up, gives me a big hug afterwards, you know. It was like, just one of those things, you know. But, yeah, I'm just very grateful to be in a place in my life where I see that today. That's awesome, Dennis. I love that.

03:29:04 - 03:29:11 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call, man. I appreciate you. Misty, what's up? Hi. Shannon was crying in public yesterday, Misty.

03:29:13 - 03:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. First time in a long time, by the way. Hey, Misty. Hey, Misty. Hey, Misty. um i so we lost my brother um unexpectedly two weeks ago very healthy very fit very happy um leaves three beautiful kids behind and my sister-in-law so um and he was my rock my best friend um but on sunday um i was at the gym as at planet and i was i do it like an hour walk like an incline and I was just sobbing I mean like I lost it like doubled over and then I just would keep going and doubled over finally someone stepped on the treadmill next to me and she kind of looked at me and at first I was like well there's 20 other treadmills that are open if you don't want

03:30:00 - 03:30:21 | Speaker 7:

The crying girl probably should move, but she kind of just looked at me and she goes, are you okay? And then she kind of shared a similar story and gave me a little bit of advice, but just, you know, a sign from God and just trying to hold on to that. So it's those little things that are super important that people don't realize.

03:30:21 - 03:30:25 | Speaker 10:

We're thinking of your brother. Yeah, we're thinking of your brother.

03:30:25 - 03:30:29 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. There's only 40, so long life left.

03:30:30 - 03:30:35 | Speaker 10:

So that's awful. Yeah. Yeah. Let us know if there's anything you need. Okay.

03:30:36 - 03:30:42 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, no, of course you guys have a good day. Take care of yourself. Uh, Lexi, what's up?

03:30:42 - 03:31:57 | Speaker 8:

It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, I just wanted to say, you know, sometimes I think as a society right now, we're really like not connected with, you know, social media and whatnot. And I just want to share a story. I'm 25 now. Um, and when I was probably seven, I went with my mom to go through the drive-thru for McDonald's. She just wanted a coffee. It was late at night after my swim practice in the wintertime, close to Christmas. And she had saw that the woman in the drive-thru window was clearly upset, not having a good day. So she pulled around, went inside and asked if she could talk to her, which my mom would probably kill me if she knew I was telling people this. And she figured out that she was basically having to decide between getting her kids diapers or any Christmas gifts um this year so my mom ended up talking to her um figuring out where she lived and that whole night I was tired it was before school we went and we did all the diapers all the Christmas shopping all of that um and she left a note we dropped it off at her house so she could um give the Christmas gifts to her um to her family that year that's an incredible and i think it just you know it shows it pays off that obviously like we said we don't love crying in public but sometimes just human connection is just kind of what people need

03:31:57 - 03:32:06 | Speaker 10:

at the end of the day yeah too often we ignore and just go oh that person must have been having a bad day but that was probably one of the greatest things that's ever happened in that

03:32:06 - 03:32:13 | Speaker 8:

woman's life yep yep and people always you know people ours are going through a lot more than you

03:32:13 - 03:32:32 | Speaker 10:

realize you know yeah well thank you for the call appreciate it and um yeah of course ashley you said her name is yes ashley we're thinking of you ashley yeah and how uh how are you doing what happens if it was not ashley but it was like i know why do you do this alexander and some guy

03:32:32 - 03:32:39 | Speaker 7:

walks up to you going i just want to give you a hug very different situation you're such an

03:32:39 - 03:32:45 | Speaker 10:

He just wanted a hug.

03:32:46 - 03:32:47 | Speaker 9:

That is so creepy.
