00:00:56 - 00:00:57 | Speaker 1:

This is it

00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 4:

Alright, are you ready?

00:00:59 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:01:06 - 00:01:07 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:01:07 - 00:01:44 | Speaker 4:

It was hot again yesterday. Man, it's funny. I was sweating my butt off yesterday. I felt like I could not get cold. And I had the temperature down like 65 in my car. But it still felt humid for some reason. And I'm sweating and sweating and sweating. And it's funny because, I don't know if this does this for you. Just the sight of the Dairy Queen logo makes me feel happy. You know what I mean? Driving down the street. Endorphins fire off. Yeah. And just being able to see that logo makes me go, oh, I feel cold now. This is just nice. And then I was on.

00:01:44 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 3:

Did you pull over?

00:01:45 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 4:

I did not.

00:01:46 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay, okay.

00:01:47 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 4:

And it wasn't because I didn't want to. I probably should have. I should have chose that instead of Chipotle yesterday. I got burned by Chipotle. I don't even want to get into that, but that was a crazy one. Then I was on social media last night, so I'm looking on my Instagram, and I see that Shannon had the ice cream man at their house, and it was like, oh, it's summertime.

00:02:10 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that great?

00:02:11 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that might be the coolest ice cream truck I have ever seen.

00:02:15 - 00:02:16 | Speaker 5:

This is how he showed up to my house.

00:02:18 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that's the music he plays? I like that.

00:02:21 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, isn't that great? It's not like the creepy, hello.

00:02:27 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 4:

Which is funny because I'll be honest with you. I would think that that would not sound like ice cream music. I would think it would be some guy having his radio too loud in the neighborhood.

00:02:37 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 5:

No, that is like a cool ice cream truck right there. I have to shout somebody out, by the way. He's a listener and his name is Jason and he owns a brand new company called Detroit Scoops. and it's this really cool like iridescent wrapped neon lit ice cream truck that you can hire for like special events and stuff and he just happened to be in the area and he had reached out to me and said do you want to surprise your kids tonight with some ice cream I was like yeah obviously because I secretly wanted some ice cream too so by the way go back to ice cream music for just

00:03:11 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 4:

one second the uh the ice cream music that I always remember when I was growing up was this

00:03:15 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 5:

This. Oh, yeah.

00:03:17 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 4:

But then the ice cream music turned creepy.

00:03:20 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Like, that's the first AI voice.

00:03:23 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 4:

That was honestly the creepiest thing, right? Hello?

00:03:27 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 3:

That's Siri.

00:03:28 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes. That was kind of like the worst, wasn't it?

00:03:31 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean, this was a banger, though. As a child, there's nothing that grabs your attention more than this. I think I probably paid more attention to that than, like, when my mom called me. Really? Hello? You hear that, it's like, whatever I need to do to get some ice cream. But what about baby, baby, baby, though? At 9 o'clock at night, Mr. Softy used to come around. And when Mr. Softy came around, he had better ice cream, more flavors, larger cones, and he used to be playing Usher and whatever was the popular song at the time. That's when everybody came up.

00:03:59 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so he would actually just play banging music that was like the popular music at the time?

00:04:03 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 3:

He probably had, back in the day at this time when I was a kid, burned CDs. He probably had a burnt CD at the time. He loaded all the bangers on. It was like a party on the block when that happened.

00:04:13 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you something? And it was so, because they parked it right in front of my house, you know? And so my kids were all out. My stepkids were out. Wes and I were hanging out. And then all of a sudden, once word got around the neighborhood very, very quickly, it was like all of a sudden, all of these kids were just running down the street. But that's summer.

00:04:33 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:34 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 5:

That is the best sight of summer.

00:04:36 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm so glad that we haven't canceled the ice cream, man. What do you mean? Well, think about it. Like, we've had so many things over time that we found out were bad, like, you know, like we grew up with it and it turned out to be like a bad situation. The ice cream man, of all things, looks like a really bad thing. I mean, the idea of a guy that usually is kind of in this.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 5:

case of that guy did not look like this he looked like a good looking guy it was usually like a fat

00:05:05 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 1:

dude with balding hair and playing dirty stained white t-shirt or wife beater which you're not supposed to say anymore but you know a white tank top hello and playing creepy music and stuff like

00:05:16 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 5:

that and kids come on get some ice cream want some ice cream get closer to me get closer you want to see hold on you want to see the inside of my van yeah i mean come on tell me that that That stuff wasn't creepy.

00:05:27 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 4:

I mean, even down to little kids, and I was a culprit of this, buying the candy-flavored cigarette. Oh, yeah, yeah. That you were, like, puffing it in there. That's a crazy thing, too.

00:05:36 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 5:

He would have it. Ice cream that was in the shape of penises. I mean, come on.

00:05:41 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

I never, my ice cream truck never had that.

00:05:45 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 5:

You don't remember those at all? You never got those ones? What are you talking about? The ice cream that was in the, it was like a Bomb Pops. Oh, they still sell Bomb Pops. That's always what Smith gets. That's the shape of the penis. Guy's selling it out of his van. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to just throw this out there. It's just a random one. I mean, come on. We're, you know, we're all just struggling at summertime. We're trying to just have some fun and keep cool. When you walked up to the, or I would like, give us your ice cream man story. Like Kevin and Shannon, you know, I remember your dad obviously always would lie to you, right, about the music.

00:06:25 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

He did the ice cream truck, and Allen Park was not an ice cream truck. We did not even know, Kev, that it sold ice cream. My dad told us, because he was cheap, that it was just a truck that drove around and played music to make people happy. It was the music man.

00:06:39 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

Wow. You had the guy, you know, playing, you know, what'd you say it was? Usher. He played Usher. Yeah.

00:06:45 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 4:

Lil Jon, whatever was banging at the time.

00:06:47 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 5:

And I want to know exactly what your choice was. Like, reminisce with us a little bit about your ice cream man. Oh, I'll tell you right now.

00:06:54 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 4:

I just, like I was saying yesterday, over the weekend, I did the Elle Car Wash event, and there was an ice cream truck there. And she didn't skimp out. She didn't have, like, just regular off-brand. Not that that's bad, but she had my go-to, which is strawberry shortcake. That's what I get, too. That's so bad. Listen, if I'm at an ice cream truck, strawberry shortcake is getting bought. 100%.

00:07:16 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

Wait, are you saying, like, strawberry shortcake?

00:07:18 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

The Good Humor Bar. The Good Humor one. Yes.

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 5:

With the toasted on the side.

00:07:22 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 4:

Pink and white, kind of like those things. See, I like the chocolate one better. I don't know if I've ever had this.

00:07:27 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 5:

The chocolate version of that was like eclair or something like that. And it was a chocolate strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake. What's up, Emily? How you doing?

00:07:37 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. Not sure where you guys grew up, but does anyone remember the song? Na-na-na-na, na-na, na-na. Na-na-na-na-na.

00:07:47 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Is that the Adams family? Oh, yeah, yeah. That was the ice cream.

00:07:50 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 1:

That was it. Na-na-na, na-na. I was one of those, like, canned musical things, too, they would play. I remember that one.

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

That was our music song.

00:07:57 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Real creepy.

00:07:58 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 5:

Wait, hold on. No, hold on. Hold on a second. I'm Googling right now. They are all creepy. Na, na, na, na.

00:08:04 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Hold on a second.

00:08:09 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. I'm looking for it right now. See if I can find it on... There's got to be something YouTube or something like that. Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Where are you typing it? I don't know. Ice Cream Truck Music. I don't know what it is.

00:08:23 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

I feel like now there should be an app that is an ice cream truck tracker where you could see where all the ice cream trucks are. Not bad. Because every summer when we were little, it would be like dinner time and your ears would just strain and you would hope that you would hear that music and then you'd have to really quick run outside with your money so you didn't miss it.

00:08:44 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 4:

You're in luck. There's a Mr. Softy app. Is there really? It is. Really? You can track it.

00:08:51 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 5:

No, that's not it. Hold on. I'm trying to find it. Emily brings up so many memories for me because that was kind of our music, too. What's up, Melissa? Hi.

00:08:59 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. I wanted to let you know that those candy cigarettes that we had when we were kids, they're still made and they're still sold.

00:09:07 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. We have some at our house right now.

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 5:

Where do you get those at now? We do. Is there like a vintage?

00:09:11 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

I have a huge box of them. No, you can go to any. Our gas station by our house sells them.

00:09:16 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, actually, I found them at Big Lots.

00:09:19 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 5:

Right next to Zins. They've got them right here.

00:09:21 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 3:

They really do.

00:09:22 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 5:

Nowadays, they need to update those and do fake versions of Zins, where you put them in your mouth and they give you a little buzz.

00:09:27 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 4:

Or they can make them brown, backwards.

00:09:29 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

I don't let my kids buy them, so my friend Lindsey bought Smith a bulk box of, like, 80 packages for his birthday a couple weeks ago. Jessica. So if anybody wants some, I'll bring some.

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Jessica?

00:09:41 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 6:

Mojo, that chocolate eclair bar that you were talking about, it definitely slaps oh yeah i'm telling you no these guys are wasting their time yep yeah i just figured that out this year a couple weeks ago i swear my kids were on to that strawberry uh the strawberry yeah sure

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 7:

And then I was like, you know what? Let me get on the chocolate one since they're on the strawberry one. That chocolate one's way better than the strawberry one.

00:10:09 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, and then there's a yellow one. What is that one? Is it just toasted almond or something?

00:10:14 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 6:

I think it is. Because there were three options always. Q, what's up, Q?

00:10:21 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 7:

What's up? I just wanted to comment on a couple of things. First off, do they still have the Candy Center Crunch? I haven't seen that in a long time, but that was my favorite. Oh, yeah. And also, the lady that was singing da-da-da-da, da-da, I don't remember that one, but I remember. Do-do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do. That's the same one. Yeah, that's the same song. That's the same one. It's not like she said da-da, da-da, da-da.

00:10:45 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

The speaker might have been both. Hello. Yeah.

00:10:50 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:10:55 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 6:

All right, this was the year that Ginger Spice left the Spice Girls.

00:11:02 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 1:

I was meant to be the advocate of girl power, and I felt like a hypocrite if I couldn't do something about, you know, that was, you know, for empowering women. So I had to go. I had no choice, really.

00:11:15 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 6:

Reese Witherspoon starred in Legally Blonde.

00:11:19 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for inviting me, girls. This party is super fun.

00:11:21 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 6:

Did you see the picture of her and her new man?

00:11:23 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

Nice outfit. Yeah, she's not cute. Oh, I like your outfit, too. Dang, Shannon. He's not.

00:11:29 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 5:

I try not to look so constipated.

00:11:30 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 2:

Girl power.

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 6:

And the big song.

00:11:33 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

What year did these things happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:11:43 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Wow, he's in the studio with us.

00:11:45 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 6:

Tim, what year was that? 2001. There you go. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with the tickets. Hey, Tim.

00:11:54 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Say, it's murder. It's murder. Yeah.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 6:

Wiz Khalifa, DaBaby tickets. Congratulations to you.

00:12:08 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

00:12:09 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 6:

Have a fantastic time. I think I might have found. Was this the ice cream truck music that we were trying to figure out, the music?

00:12:22 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't think that was the one they were talking about. That's one of them for sure, though. That's one of them, yeah.

00:12:26 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 6:

Was it? Yeah, that was always kind of like.

00:12:32 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 5:

Did y'all have wrestling on your ice cream truck bus? Like wrestling bars with like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Oh, yeah. Those are great.

00:12:41 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 2:

If they did, I didn't get them.

00:12:43 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 6:

There used to be an ice cream man here in the area that looked like Hulk Hogan. He thought he was Hulk Hogan.

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 2:

He sounded like Hulk Hogan.

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 6:

He would come to our events and stuff like that.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

He was at every art van appearance I ever had.

00:12:56 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? Now, by the way, I'm going to tell you something. I can't believe the ice cream trucks have not been canceled. Really? They canceled everything. How did they not cancel those? What's up, Brett?

00:13:08 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so you guys are lucky to have an ice cream truck. The little cargo sprinter vans that you see electricians driving, that's what we had.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 6:

That's a big truck, though. It doesn't look like an ice cream truck. That looks like a traffic truck.

00:13:21 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 3:

Like the old school cargo van.

00:13:23 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm telling you. You know what, though? You need to have one of those old good-humory type ones, like the van that breaks down in front of your house because it can't get to the next house. It overheats.

00:13:34 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I've purchased ice cream from a caravan turned into an ice cream truck before. It's not, but I mean, ice cream. Look at your ice cream. I know, it's supposed to be an eye on his cheek. Yeah, it spells palsy.

00:13:45 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

That guy, by the way, driving that thing, he ended up getting closeouts at the dollar store or something like that. All right. We got a chance for you to go and pick up a really cool prize this summer. It's our summer of cars, cash, and gas. Win a brand new 2025 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000 cash from Gordon Chevrolet. We're just about a week away from giving that away. So 95th caller, win a $50 gas card to qualify from Kroger and Green Flame Tequila. And then qualify to win a brand new car from Gordon Chevrolet. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller.

00:14:25 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:14:27 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 6:

We're going to get you caught up on what's trending this morning. What's in our first Dirty on the 30, Shantara?

00:14:31 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 2:

My mouth dropped when I saw the news come through yesterday that Britney Spears had adopted a baby girl, and she named her Lennon London Spears. Oh, boy. I mean, I said that to all my friends. I was like, I just don't feel like this is a good idea. This does not feel safe to me. She's not really in a good headspace from what we can kind of deduce from her social media. Well, Source is telling me this morning that it was a joke. That emojis. in the post and the use of a baby carrier with dolls suggested it wasn't actually literal there is no record of adoption um so i don't think that that is a real story so how did this come out she posted something and yeah so i actually did not see excuse me i did not see the post that announced this and i went back on her instagram this morning and didn't see anything so i don't know if it was a story or if it was a post that was taken down or the caption's been cleared, but it's not true. If you heard it, it's not true.

00:15:33 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 4:

So it's just to rile people up. It worked.

00:15:36 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:15:37 - 00:15:37 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:15:38 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 2:

FS1 host Joy Taylor has been dropped by Fox Sports after being named in a very high profile sexual battery and harassment lawsuit filed by a former hairstylist named Nushin Faraji. This hairstylist is accusing Joy of dismissing her claims against ex-Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon and really alleged inappropriate conduct toward Joy Taylor herself. Fox also canceled three shows that she was involved in, Speak, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility, citing low ratings alongside all of this other legal stuff that's going on. Now, for what it's worth, Joy has strongly denied all of the allegations. That accused executive, you've probably heard his name before, Charlie Dixon. He was already fired a while ago. And then Skip Bayless, who was also named in this lawsuit, has denied his alleged involvement in this thing.

00:16:31 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 4:

Where is Skip Bayless at these days?

00:16:33 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

He's no longer on FS1. Last I saw, he was doing a podcast with his wife. He's in your lane. Better watch out.

00:16:39 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 4:

Doing wife podcast? Is he talking sports with her?

00:16:42 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 3:

They're talking everything. Oh, really?

00:16:44 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

I actually, it's interesting. Did, what's it, did, why am I brain farting? The guy that played for the Denver Broncos, talk show host with Stephen A. Why am I brain farting? With the Broncos? Yeah, ESPN guy that got canceled because he was arguing. Oh, Shannon Sharp. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't know why I couldn't. Shannon Sharp. Is Shannon Sharp back on television yet? No.

00:17:07 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

I think the case started, I think, last week, and the girl's lawyer didn't show up. That was the last report I saw maybe a couple of days ago. So he's still suing for $50 million.

00:17:15 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 4:

So I wonder if ESPN brings him back, if this comes back, or does he do the podcast thing or do his own thing?

00:17:23 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 3:

He has his own thing. He has a podcast on YouTube, and he does his own show. Right, I know. And they canceled the tour with him and Ocho amidst all of this stuff.

00:17:31 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 2:

Are we talking still about Shannon Sharp?

00:17:33 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's called Nightcap, him and former Bengals wide receiver Ocho Cinco. He's got a lot of things.

00:17:39 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 4:

But the interesting thing is ESPN kind of, like, just got rid of him right away, and that was some of the highest ratings that they had, he and Steve and I had together.

00:17:49 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 2:

And I dropped the dirty to you last week that Jennifer Aniston is dating a guy by the name of Jim Curtis, who's a wellness coach, but really, he's a hypnotist. He is in love with her, and I know they've known each other for a long time just based on Instagram interactions of, like, liking each other's posts and comments and stuff like that. But they all went on vacation together with Jen's BFF and the love of my life, Jason Bateman, and his wife. And Jen and Jim were spotted giving each other shoulder massages. They were all over each other in the pool. They were smooching. I mean, there's no denying that something is going on. There's a relationship of some sort happening. But on top of that, after the vacation, apparently this week, Jim sent out this newsletter to all of his clients talking about the newfound abundance of joy and love that he's feeling in his life. Never naming Jen Aniston, but heavily hinting at a meaningful relationship shift in his life. They met through a mutual friend, by the way, in case you were wondering. 00:19:07 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 4:

All right, time now for the 5 at 6.55. We got two new champs in the 5 at 6.55. We're starting off with a fresh slate. Please welcome contestant number one that wants to be the new reigning champion from Battle Creek. I like this. She services porta-potties for a living. Okay. Please welcome Gail to the show. What's up, Gail?

00:19:31 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Gail. Good morning, everybody.

00:19:34 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 4:

It says here that you suck out toilets on a port-a-bite. What do you do?

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we do the toilet business here.

00:19:43 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so are you the actual person that does this, or do you?

00:19:47 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:19:48 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 4:

Wow, okay. Do you have to wash your hands a lot?

00:19:50 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 1:

I suck, and I suck out the toilets, and I clean them up, and I restock them, and leave my toilets nice and clean behind.

00:19:57 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:19:57 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Are you a good sucker? Are you the best?

00:20:00 - 00:23:00 | Speaker 1:

I am the best. I'd love for you to be our reigning champion because I'd love to find out tomorrow morning on the show the worst port-a-potty you've ever encountered. We're going to have you take on from Marine City. He is a lawn care foreman. Please welcome Jeff to the show. Yeah, Jeff. Hi, Jeff. Oh, I got to push the button here. Hi, Jeff. Good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning. Jeff works with grass. It says here, I cut grass, I'm busy, and I'm slammed at work right now. You've got a lot of busy stuff going on right now. Both of you guys are probably going to be pretty busy, right? Absolutely. Well, I appreciate that you're taking the time to play the five at 6.55. Yep. It was predetermined that Gail's going to go first. Jeff, you're going to go second, so you're going to go into a soundproof area. We're going to put you into one of Gail's porta-potties, and we'll be right back with you. We're going to ask five pop culture trivia questions. If there is a tie, there will be a tie-breaker know-the-show question. That's how we do it when we have two new contestants. Gail, 5 of 6.55, question number one. Kendall and Kylie Jenner were absent from their half-brother's wedding this past weekend. What's his name? Three seconds. Oh, my goodness. Three. Julian. Question number two. Sydney Sweeney is reportedly about to drop a lingerie line. thanks to her Amazon boss friend. I'm sorry, what is it? Did I screw it up? Oh, you looked at me like I was weird. Who's helping her do it? Who is he? Who's her Amazon boss friend? Mr. Bezos. Question number three. Ray Romano is going viral this morning for performing Eminem's Lose Yourself at a celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe. What is the name of Ray's longtime running sitcom? Everybody Loves Ray. Question number four, Paige DeSorbo has a new man in her life after her highly publicized split from Craig Conover. What reality show made Paige famous? Three seconds. Love After Lockup? I don't know. And question number five, Cal Raleigh from the Mariners won this year's Home Run Derby. What U.S. city do the Mariners come from? Florida. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. Yeah, that was a state. You only got one right, Gail. Not the greatest show. Why are the pretty ones always so good? No. You're going to be upset, too, because you could have gotten two right. But all right, here we go. Question number one, Jeff, you got to beat just one. So you got to at least get two right. Kendall and Kylie Jenner were absent from their half-brother's wedding this past weekend. What's his name? Brody. Yes. Okay. One to nothing.

00:23:01 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 1:

Question number two. Sydney Sweeney is reportedly about to drop a lingerie line thanks to her Amazon boss friend who's helping her out. Who is he? I heard some of my whispering. I think that might be my voice coming back at us on a thing. 21.

00:23:18 - 00:23:18 | Unknown:

I don't know.

00:23:19 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 1:

Are you sure? I don't know. It is me coming back. Okay. I mean, because I heard it and I'm like, that guy's voice sounds really, see, that's me coming back on the thing. Nobody's cheating, right? See, that was Shannon saying nobody's cheating, right? All right. There's something in there, Bluetooth, that's going on. Question number three. I think he's going to be fine. He's got to beat one. Yeah. Question number three. Ray Romano is going viral this morning for performing Eminem's Lose Yourself. at the Celebrity Golf Tournament in Tahoe. What was the name of Ray's long-time running sitcom? Everybody Loves Ray.

00:23:58 - 00:23:59 | Unknown:

No.

00:23:59 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

No, everybody, you guys both. Everybody Loves Ray Mund. Yes. Two to one. Both of you guys missed that. This is going to be interesting. Question number four. Paige DeSorbo has a new man in her life after her highly publicized split from Craig Conover. what reality show made Paige famous Love Island I believe yeah no no it's Summer House oh my god wait a second this is going to be interesting he's already got the win but he's not as good as we think comes down to this last question just to see if you can get at least get a three otherwise I'm going to first time ever have two people I got to play a dumb drop for question number five Cal Raleigh from the Mariners won the Home Run Derby last night. What U.S. city do the Mariners come from? Seattle. There we go.

00:25:00 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 3:

He's not missing that one. Congratulations to you. That Cal Raleigh guy is a beast. I like that. I think that was the guy who hit the home run that Ryan Kessler caught. Congratulations to you, Jeff. You are back tomorrow. Yay! Hold on, Jalen. What's up, Jalen? You wanted to say something?

00:25:23 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was just calling in. I wanted to say I think those fumes from the port-a-pots must have been getting to jail.

00:25:28 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Why would you say that? Why would you say that? I love it. Hold on. I mean, they get pretty stinky. We got a parting gift for you. We're going to send you up with a $50 gift card to Checkers. So congratulations to you, Gail. Have a great time.

00:25:44 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 4:

$50 at Checkers, man. It's Mojo on the mornings 5 at C55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

00:26:04 - 00:26:30 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys here with us. We're home for the War of the Roses. We'll be busting a cheater coming up here, so get ready for that. It's Mojo, Shannon, Cav. I got to ask, Cav, because I've been kind of feeling like I'm out of the know lately. And I don't know, maybe, Shannon, you feel this way, too. I want to know, what girl is he hanging with these days? Like, what's going on? Is there one? He hasn't been sharing with us. Not anymore, man.

00:26:30 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 2:

But, whoa, really? Yeah, nah, I might have lost her for good. Oh.

00:26:35 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second.

00:26:35 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 2:

I'm a little hurt, bro.

00:26:36 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 1:

Back up.

00:26:37 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:26:38 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 1:

I didn't even know that you were seeing somebody in particular.

00:26:41 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, according to Mojo, Mr. Player Player over here got all the ladies. My home is a revolving door. You let him tell it. But that's not the case.

00:26:50 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 3:

I can't. Here's the thing. I always know that you are seeing somebody because there's always, like, the tiredness that goes on, you know? That's just life. That ain't love.

00:27:04 - 00:27:09 | Speaker 1:

See, I always know that you're seeing somebody or when you're seeing somebody when you take a lot of FaceTime calls during the show.

00:27:09 - 00:27:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:27:10 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 1:

And you step out, and it's like you can see a girl.

00:27:12 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, that ain't happening no more. Wait a second. I feel this is kind of sad. It is, bro. We don't need no music, though. Or you can have the music, man.

00:27:19 - 00:27:20 | Speaker 4:

Let's get into it.

00:27:20 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 3:

I need something that's, I don't know.

00:27:22 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 4:

Like sand through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.

00:27:28 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 2:

Rest in peace, Grandma Alice. I'm her story now. That was her. Yeah, man. But no, yeah, I feel like, so yeah, I was seeing this girl for a couple of months.

00:27:36 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 1:

Months? And we didn't know.

00:27:39 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 2:

I mean, y'all don't got to know everything, but, you know. But yeah, so seeing this girl for a couple of months. And before we got into things, I told her that I wasn't looking for a relationship. I'm not looking for anything serious. That's not where I'm at. And she understood, and we started to see each other. And spent a good portion of time together. We'll call her Nebu. We'll call her Nebu just to get names out here. Why Nebu, though? I'm hoping she hear this, and I'm hoping she pick up my call. Okay. So, yeah, so Nebu. So, Nibu caught feelings, and she's in a position now where, you know, she wants to find love. She wants to be in a relationship, and I'm still where I was when I communicated early in this that that's not what I'm looking for. And it feels at this moment like she's done with me, but I'm not done with her. Does that kind of make sense?

00:28:37 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 1:

No, it doesn't. Let's ask some clarifying questions. Because you said that you are not looking for a committed relationship, yet now you're saying that you don't want to be done with her.

00:28:48 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that doesn't have to be a committed relationship. That means that I enjoy what we have.

00:28:52 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 1:

But you want to be able to date other people at the same time.

00:28:54 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 2:

It ain't even about, like, dating other people. I think once you have a relationship where you say, like, this is my person, that's a whole other level. It's not a level of marriage, but there's a certain level of commitment and togetherness, and you share things that you don't really share, you know.

00:29:09 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 3:

What you're saying is you want your cake and eat it, too. Correct.

00:29:13 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 2:

I mean, what else do you do with your cake?

00:29:15 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 3:

You say no display cakes? No, I think I know what he's saying. I think he's saying that he really wants to continue to get to know her and hang with her, but he doesn't necessarily want to say, we are it with each other. You just want to see how things go a little bit more.

00:29:33 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 2:

I can't be what she might need right now.

00:29:38 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 1:

But then that's not fair to her to stay in a relationship with her if she really wants to be monogamous. And that's, I feel you.

00:29:47 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's true. I don't really have a full rebuttal for that. I don't have like a sly way of speaking about it. But is it selfish to want to enjoy somebody's company even if that's not what they want? But you're not.

00:30:00 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't think Kev is necessarily the guy that's out, you know, bringing three or four at the time. No, I don't either.

00:30:06 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 5:

But if I want to be in a monogamous relationship, that means I only want I only want Kev to want me.

00:30:11 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 3:

I think his I think his his terminology to her is not right. Like, I think he I think she's mistaken what he's saying because I don't think she knows Kev like we know Kev. I think that she's thinking this guy wants to go out, but Kevin doesn't. He wants to focus just on her. He just doesn't want her to get her hopes up that Kevin's wanting to, you know, get married right now to her.

00:30:34 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 4:

That's definitely not happening.

00:30:36 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 3:

Like, I think that's the thing. But I also think that you're saying it all wrong. I think you should just say, hey, I really want to date you. Like, I really want to be with you.

00:30:43 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 4:

But he doesn't. I mean, I enjoy what we have, and I don't want to rush into saying, okay, now we're in a relationship. Like, can we just enjoy what we have right now and be comfortable and okay with what we have right now? Why do we have to, like, hurry up and say we're together, we're in a relationship? You don't want to put a title on it.

00:31:01 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 5:

I get that, but at the same time, if I've already been with somebody for a couple of months and I know that I'm invested, I want you to be invested, too, and I don't want to always think when you go out that you're looking around for somebody else.

00:31:13 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 4:

So I feel like you can look at me and say I'm selfish in a way that I want to continue to operate, but I can also say, okay, you're selfish in a way that you want to operate by basically saying, Okay, well, if you're not doing what I, if you're not on my timeline, I'm out of here.

00:31:26 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 5:

I actually, I don't think you're selfish in what you want. I think you're selfish if you continue to do what you want while being in a relationship with her because you know that, like, your timing with each other, you guys might be perfect for each other. Your timing's just not matching up right now.

00:31:41 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 3:

Thanks. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Sue, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:31:49 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi. First time, long time. Sue's on the phone. hi um so i just wanted to say i obviously kevin i don't want you to like give away her information but depending on how old this girl is she might not have time to play games so yes like you're valid in and liking her and wanting to date her but i know from personal experience when i hit 30 i i didn't have time to just be with somebody who wasn't wanting something serious so i am

00:32:27 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 4:

how old is she she in her early 30s okay but like when i maybe i just have a negative connotation around the word playing games i can understand if we're on two different timelines but i'm not playing games with you if i'm enjoying your company and you know we're we're enjoying each

00:32:43 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 1:

other's company and and not saying that you're playing games with her specifically i just mean especially for women when we hit our 30s we have a specific timeline if we want kids and we want to get married first let's say that's her goal I'm not sure that's what her goal is but or even just a very serious relationship before kids just like my cousin Vinny if you guys seen the movie like their biological clock is ticking and we want to settle down and and get that going so even if she does really like you she just knows what she wants but that's the thing

00:33:20 - 00:33:28 | Speaker 4:

how many people are missing out on true love because they operating off an imaginary timeline that somebody told them was what they were supposed to be operating on but for some women

00:33:28 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 3:

though it's not imaginary because they want children and i think that they want to have it

00:33:32 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 4:

at a certain age women having kids like okay if they want it at a certain age there you go

00:33:37 - 00:33:52 | Speaker 3:

well let's not say they're biological but they're the ones carrying those women are carrying those babies so they're it's well it's them carrying the baby and they want to do it within a certain period of time that they think that will help with their health but i um chris what's up chris

00:33:52 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 2:

i was just wondering like you know kev one day is all about you know going to church and time and everything the next day oh i don't want to settle down i don't want to settle down

00:34:03 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 5:

i don't think that makes him a bad what does that have to do

00:34:06 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing right now? It sounds like you're shoveling rocks.

00:34:11 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 4:

He's flipping through the Bible, I guess.

00:34:14 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What is that noise? I'm working. Okay. Can you just take one second, though, because it's literally hurting my ears. So you're saying that Kevin, he's judging me, can't talk about how he has a relationship with God but also a relationship with girls?

00:34:32 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's not very godly. You know, I'd be sitting here messing with one girl one day, talking about having a girl at the house the next day, this, that, and have you. I mean, how can you sit there and be all about the church and all about God,

00:34:47 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 4:

but yet you want to kind of be a little bit of a man whore? You have no idea if this is the same girl that I've been talking about or not. You're just making assumptions right now. We listen to radio. We listen to radio and talk to you about all these different girls.

00:35:00 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, I will say this about Kevin. I agree with you in the fact that I think that Kevin does sound like he has multiple girls, but I didn't even know about this one, and neither did Shannon. We both seemed shocked. So it could be that it's the same girl, and the stories that he brings to the air are from the same relationship.

00:35:22 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 5:

It's been two girls, and this has been the one that's been the one for the last two months. See, I blame you for this. I blame you for this

00:35:31 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 2:

Blame me, but God doesn't want you to

00:35:33 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 5:

What's up Angie?

00:35:35 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Angie, hi

00:35:36 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning guys

00:35:38 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Your phone, by the way, your phone sounds so much better than the last caller Him shoveling rocks was hurting my ears Go ahead

00:35:44 - 00:36:06 | Speaker 3:

No, my comment is that Kevin Just communicate How you feel with her Be open and honest And don't play with her feelings Because if she really likes you and then you just tell her you're not ready. Like, just communicate. Be like, hey, this is what I want and see where it goes.

00:36:06 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you. I think it's all about the communication. And it's the wording, I think, too.

00:36:11 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, definitely the wording.

00:36:12 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 2:

I think that she got scared in the fact that she thought that Kevin was commitment-phobic. And I don't think you are Kevin. I think that Kevin, it sounds to me like you do seem kind of down about this girl. I do, man.

00:36:25 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 5:

I miss her.

00:36:26 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:36:27 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 5:

I miss my knee boo.

00:36:29 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 2:

Knee boo. My knee boo.

00:36:30 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 5:

I want to know what that name means.

00:36:32 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 2:

I'll tell you off here. Okay.

00:36:34 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 5:

It has something to do with her name.

00:36:36 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What's up, Crystal?

00:36:38 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I might comment to Kevin on this topic. Just being a woman of a certain age and putting yourself back out there in the dating time. Like, I already have kids, but this woman's in her 30s, and I remember being in my 30s. And just by the way he sent that message, it sounds like what you're looking for is like a friend to pal around with, like a friend with benefits. And that's exactly the way it sounded. And it doesn't seem like it's going to go anywhere. And being that woman of a certain age, and you're looking for a man and a husband, that's just not going to fly. And I'll be honest with you, I've got enough friends. So she's already like, look, dude, I have enough friends. And I don't blame her for being like, I'm not going to waste my time because this is happening. I remember seeing different comments about women, like I dated a guy for a whole year, five years, and when he ups and marries somebody else, you've got to look at it from her perspective.

00:37:24 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 5:

Okay, and if I'm looking at it at her perspective, and that was beautiful, beautifully said. We're going to give you some claps on that one. If we start off in our conversation and we're both saying that we're not looking for something, then how am I in the wrong if I'm portraying something that we've already discussed?

00:37:38 - 00:37:54 | Speaker 4:

It's the way you said it. It sounds like friends with benefits. I'm telling you, I'm 45. I've been through it all. Two kids took off like several years, took myself out the game. It's the way you said it. And she's like, I'm not trying to be friends with benefits.

00:37:55 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 5:

So what, I don't know if you heard me correctly. We both came to the table and said, we are looking for something. But that's how we started.

00:38:01 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 4:

She's like, you know what I'm saying? She said she got feelings. I'm really feeling you. That happens. Yeah, she's catching feelings. She's catching feelings. And it doesn't sound like you really catching feelings. I know. That's what I'm saying.

00:38:11 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 5:

You came up in two months and all of a sudden y'all hit me with the, I'm on a timeline and I'm looking for marriage. And I have that like, bro, we just said we was out chilling and having fun together. None of us said I'm getting condemned because y'all on the timeline.

00:38:24 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 2:

I think she should listen.

00:38:25 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 5:

You have to look at it.

00:38:26 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 2:

I think, Crystal, that she should listen to this break here, this podcast, and she should listen to this to hear that Kev, I think, sounds probably different in this conversation than he does sound to her. I think you sound like you actually do miss her, and that's something that – and it's not about I don't think he misses the sex. I think he misses the companionship. Companionship. Yeah.

00:38:47 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 5:

We didn't even have sex.

00:38:49 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Boy, that changes this conversation. See, here we all go. Yeah, see? God's back into this now.

00:38:56 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 4:

He's not done with me yet.

00:38:58 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Should have deleted those texts you meant to delete.

00:39:03 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 4:

Wake, wake, wake up.

00:39:04 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 1:

Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 740 on Mojo in the Morning. Wake, wake up.

00:39:11 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Ah, this is fun. It's summertime, and if you're a parent, you know summertime is a totally different time being a parent than it is during a school year right school year means you have a lot more okay here we go we got class school to get to we got after school activities all that stuff summertime it's a freaking free for all isn't it and the funniest thing about this is no matter what age your kids are there are certain summer rules that you have to follow if you are a parent like i don't know if you guys remember when you were kids like my mom and dad had summer rules for us that were different than our rules during the year the year was we had to do good in school and do our after school activities in the summertime it was almost kind of like we were you know they let they let us out of prison and we were ready to go well

00:40:00 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 4:

I was talking to Luke, and we were having a conversation about how there's certain things I need from him, even though he's more grown up than he was when he was a kid. And he was telling me, he goes, Dad, no worries. He goes, I'll do this stuff for you and Mom. He goes, because my friend has summer rules. And I said, what are your friend's summer rules? And he says he's got a friend whose dad and mom gave him summer rules while he's home from school. And his summer rules are three things. He's got to be up by at least noon every single day, no matter what day of the week it is. Monday through Sunday. And the second rule, he's got to take a shower every single day. And the third rule is he has to brush his teeth every single day. Those are the three rules that the parents gave him. So he cannot sleep past noon, no matter what day of the week it is. So he's got to make sure that he gets up on time, even if he's out partying all night or doing something all night, playing video games. And then he's got to take a shower and brush his teeth. I want to know from you, and if you're a parent, what are the summer rules for your kids? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 and you have little kids you guys have younger kids

00:41:04 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say I don't even require the shower every day well because they swim every single day and so I'm like eh really kind of counts wait so you let the chlorine be the shower oh yeah to the point where last night the kids went and played outside with the neighbors and stuff and I'm like well they technically already showered because they rinse off after they get out of the pool in their swim practice you know but Smith's feet were so dirty I was like okay At least you have to take off like a foot shower. Yeah. Wash your feet before you get into bed. But normally I'm like, I have to ask, when was the last time you actually took a shower with soap?

00:41:38 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

And what's the longest that it's been days wise?

00:41:40 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Cause he was like, and between mom's house and dad's house, I'm not keeping track.

00:41:45 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:41:46 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 5:

Is this like a, is this like a Shannon thought or is this like a, people do this where like you consider the pool is like a shower.

00:41:54 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I think that that's, I don't think it's just a Shannon thing.

00:41:57 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 5:

That's a widely adapted philosophy.

00:41:58 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing. You should look into that, by the way. People piss in and use...

00:42:03 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the chlorine. I don't think the chlorine's good for their skin. That's just rinse, though.

00:42:07 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Like, you can eat a scrub. No soap and water or anything like that? No. Moisturizers? Don't. I don't think my children have ever used a moisturizer after they were a baby, and I applied it for them.

00:42:16 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What about you? What's the rules that you have?

00:42:19 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 5:

I'm stuck on that. I mean, Josiah's a free-for-all. He can do whatever he wants to do. So as long as he goes to sleep, my time is 3 a.m. Like, I tell him, like, you have to be to bed by at least 3 a.m.

00:42:32 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 4:

What time does he have to wake up then? I don't care. Really? I don't care. Because that's Luke's friend's parents are like, I don't care if you're staying up until 4 o'clock in the morning.

00:42:40 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 5:

You're not about to wake up at 1 p.m. and half the day's gone. But that's why I put him in his summer class because I know for myself, I'm extremely laxed. And he'll be waking up whenever, going to sleep whenever, eating whatever he wants. I'm like, no, we got to get some structure at the very least.

00:42:54 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 3:

They're so lax in the summer. I never thought that Shannon. I can't even think of a summer rule that I have. I really can't.

00:43:00 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 4:

I never thought that Shannon of all the parents would be letting her kids walk around, you know, with dirty butt for like days.

00:43:06 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Dirty butt.

00:43:08 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Eve? Hi.

00:43:10 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Hi. My kids would have to do the summer learning books. They'd have to do at least three pages a day.

00:43:16 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that was a big one.

00:43:17 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

I have a registered dietitian now, and I have a position assistant now, so it paid off.

00:43:23 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:43:23 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. That's something learning is important.

00:43:26 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I want you to know that the whole reading thing never happened in our house until the last week before school, and they had to fill out that little, there's summer books or whatever that they had to read.

00:43:37 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 1:

Lucy had to choose two books to read. My kids did the library learning and got all the library prizes.

00:43:44 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. She chose two books.

00:43:47 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 3:

She chose two books. She was so smart. She goes, I already read these two, so I'm good.

00:43:51 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 4:

That is actually very smart. Nay, what's up? Nay.

00:43:56 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. What's up?

00:43:58 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? How are you?

00:44:00 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy to get through. This is my first time. I'm listening to you every morning. Nay is on the phone.

00:44:07 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 4:

What summer rules have you got?

00:44:08 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 2:

My kids are three and eight. And my only rule, and I'm like a strict parent. During school time, they got to be in bed by eight. Even a three-year-old because he's going to, like, daycare.

00:44:20 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:44:20 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 2:

But my only rule in the summertime, because I got to be at work at 7.30 a.m., I work 12-hour shifts at the hospital. My only rule is for them not to come in and wake me up. I don't care if it's 3 in the morning. Don't bother me. Don't set the house on fire. Do not wake me up. If you wake me up, you go into bed.

00:44:36 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, wait a second. That's my only rule. Wait a second. You're talking about how they have to be in bed by 8 o'clock. How do you get your kids to go to bed when it's still sunny outside?

00:44:43 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 3:

No, she said during the school year.

00:44:45 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, when's the summertime bedtime?

00:44:49 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 2:

time they could do whatever just don't wake me up okay that's don't wake me up part okay yeah i

00:44:54 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

misunderstood you on that one because i was gonna say you can't get a kid to go to bed before 10 o'clock when it gets dark

00:45:00 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 1:

It don't work like that. I'm so happy that Lydia's calling some of these texters. Shannon does not read texts for a reason because she doesn't like the text messengers that go after her. Shannon, there's not one text message here that's not going after you for your parenting right now. Oh, that's okay.

00:45:12 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 4:

That's okay.

00:45:13 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 1:

Dana's one of the texters we just called. What did you want to say, Dana?

00:45:17 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 4:

My kids have, I'm with Shannon. There's no rules. My daughter left last Wednesday to go up north with friends. I thought she was coming home on Sunday, so I sent her a message. I'm like, hey, what time are you going to be home today? She's like, oh, I didn't tell you. We're not coming back until Tuesday. I'm like, oh, okay.

00:45:35 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow, how old's your daughter?

00:45:36 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 4:

I guess I'll see you in a few. Well, she's 17.

00:45:39 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing even for a 17-year-old, though.

00:45:42 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

I know. I'm like, maybe we need to communicate a little better.

00:45:46 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll tell you what, Mom. That ends when she gets the boy that's in her life and you're worried about what's going on with those two.

00:45:53 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, trust me. She's not leaving the house if there's ever a boy in her life.

00:45:56 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there probably is a boy. If she's not coming home until Tuesday, I'm telling you. I hope not. You better be careful. Hold on. I thought that was one of the ones, the texters here. That was not. That was actually a caller that called in. This is one of the texters. Ace, what do you want to say to Shannon?

00:46:11 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, what is going on with rue, with hygiene being rue? That should be habit. Wait, what? Shannon, a pool is not a shower.

00:46:26 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 6:

It is. It's water. Come on, man. They good. That's not the summer. Let me tell you something. If my kids don't come in at the end of the day filthy, that is not a good summer day. That is not a good summer day. They did not play hard enough.

00:46:40 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 1:

Ace, I'm not kidding you. I thought Shannon, her kids were, you know, the cleanest kids ever. Now, I don't even smell them. I can smell them through her FaceTime when she talks. Although, yesterday.

00:46:51 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 2:

They can come in filthy. They just got a shower afterwards.

00:46:54 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 1:

Yesterday, she's FaceTiming Smith.

00:46:55 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 6:

And they're just getting in the pool at 7 the next morning.

00:46:57 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 1:

She's FaceTiming Smith, and his hair is like every which way. He's like got it all over the place. No wonder. This kid hasn't showered in days.

00:47:04 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 6:

Probably two weeks. I don't know.

00:47:05 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 1:

That is funny. Raven, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about summer rules. Hi, Raven. Hello. What's going on?

00:47:14 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Sorry, I didn't hear my name. Hi.

00:47:17 - 00:47:17 | Unknown:

How are you?

00:47:18 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 3:

I am the meanest mom, and my kids go to bed 7 and 4 every night before 8 o'clock. Even in the summertime. Yeah, because you know what? This mom, I know, I know. This mom needs a break, though, too. That's true. It's for my mental health.

00:47:36 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 1:

No, I get it. That's when you all of a sudden open up the minibar, right, and go grab yourself a cocktail or something?

00:47:44 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and a Netflix. Yeah, exactly. Seven to four, I can see that. Once they get a little older, you got to loosen up the reins a little bit.

00:47:53 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 3:

But they're not stinky.

00:47:58 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 6:

Summer bedtime is so hard for me because I want to go to bed at like between 9 and 10, and they don't want to go to bed at, you know, 830, 9 o'clock. So it's summer. Trying to figure that out is so tough. Like, I usually just let them watch TV or, like, make, like, a sleepover on the couch with their sleeping bags and stuff so that I can go to bed and they can stay up.

00:48:19 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 1:

I know. Same with this job. It is so tough. What's up, Brandy? Hi.

00:48:23 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I wanted to call in support of Shannon.

00:48:26 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Okay. Are you also another mom that's bad that doesn't let your, doesn't get your kids showered?

00:48:32 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. And I have a pool. And I just want to say that's the same. It's like a chemical shower. Yeah.

00:48:39 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 1:

When is that ever a good thing? When was the last time your kid showered?

00:48:45 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 5:

The last time I asked him, he said it's been two weeks.

00:48:49 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. That kid, by the way, has so much bacteria on him. Oh, my God. He's got things growing in places you probably don't want. Oh, my God.

00:49:00 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 5:

Maybe we'll have him shower tonight. Please.

00:49:04 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 7:

Don't miss this.

00:49:06 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, when we come back here next, We got a chance for you to win in our summer of cars, cash, and gas, a brand new 2025 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000 cash. Shannon with Breaking Dirty News.

00:49:45 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 7:

Tell me about how we cheated on you five times already and is doing it again. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 740 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:50:35 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:50:38 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, this Beyonce story is wild.

00:50:42 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, probably the biggest dirty story of the day, by the way. Some unreleased Beyonce music was stolen in Atlanta. And essentially how this happened, thieves broke into her choreographer's car and then grabbed a whole bunch of flash drives that were just chock full of information.

00:50:58 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 4:

Y'all have no idea how much I used to dream of being on this stage.

00:51:05 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 3:

Overnight, Beyonce closing out the Atlanta leg of her Cowboy Carter tour as police investigate the theft of Queen Bee's unreleased music. Beyonce is never coming back to Atlanta after this. On the night of July 8th, officers responding to a call about a vehicle theft at this garage in Atlanta. Beyonce's choreographer and one of her dancers telling police that their car had been broken into and two suitcases had been stolen. Oh, that's terrible. The crime is awful. Brazen people out here. The thieves making off with Apple laptops and designer clothes, as well as five hard drives that contained unreleased music. The Beehive reacting to the news. Somebody just stole Act 3. Seriously? Officers using Apple's location services to track the stolen electronics, and police now say an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect whose name has not been revealed. It's not the first time Beyoncé's music has ended up in the wrong hands. Three years ago, the Renaissance album was leaked two days before it was set to be released, the singer later thanking fans who waited until release day to listen. And it's not just Beyoncé.

00:52:10 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 4:

I thought that I've been hurt before.

00:52:15 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

In January, a woman was sentenced for hacking cloud storage to steal and sell unreleased music by artists including Shawn Mendes and Coldplay.

00:52:23 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 1:

Always in search of the verse that I haven't speak yet. Will this step just be another misstep?

00:52:28 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 3:

And in March, a former studio engineer for Eminem was charged with stealing the rapper's unreleased music more than 25 songs and selling them online.

00:52:38 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 5:

I've got a couple thoughts. Go in. Why are you leaving your computer in your car and not thinking it's going to get broken into and somebody's going to steal it? They probably just went in there and stole, thinking, oh, look at there, there's a bag sitting in the car. They didn't even know it was Beyonce's. That's my first thought on this whole deal. Secondly, who's stealing Shawn Mendes' music? You know what I mean? No offense to Shawn Mendes.

00:53:02 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 2:

I like Shawn Mendes.

00:53:04 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 5:

I mean, seriously, he should pray that they steal his music so at least somebody's going to be listening to it. Now back to you, Shannon. That's your thought? That's my thought. And in Atlanta, I mean, there's crime all over the place. Atlanta's got the All-Star Game going on right now, too. So they had the Beyonce concert last night, and then they also have the All-Star Game. Listen, crime is going to happen anywhere, but it's a happening city. And for them to say in a report.

00:53:28 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 2:

This was at, like, a grocery store, I think.

00:53:29 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 5:

That's crazy, though, man. That's crazy. You know where it was, by the way? It was right by, so Shannon used to live in Atlanta. And we used to go to Atlanta all the time because our agent Norm was down there. It's the one right there by the Lenox Mall that they were staying at.

00:53:46 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

00:53:47 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 5:

I think it's Lenox Mall, isn't it, or something like that? Yeah.

00:53:49 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, hopefully they, it sounds like Apple's on the case. They can track whatever the thing is. Hopefully they get them before they leak any of the music.

00:53:56 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 5:

Or just leak the music. It's always leaked anyway. Don't do that.

00:53:59 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 2:

Trey Songz is under investigation yet again over attacking a photographer during a 2016 show here in Detroit.

00:54:06 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 5:

Our big show.

00:54:08 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes, it was one of our shows. And this is the show, you've heard us talking about this for years. He hurled the mic stand into the crowd and it struck a photographer in the head. That same incident included an altercation with a police officer afterwards. So Trey pleaded guilty to reduced charges the following year. He was placed on probation, had to go to some like anger management classes or something. But fast forward to the summer of 2018, the officer and that photographer filed a lawsuit citing some pretty serious injuries, a brain injury, fractured bones, some head trauma. And then just last year, a default judgment of $11 million was awarded to these two guys. But Trey Songz has since moved to have it dismissed. So this is still playing out. So far, he has denied all of the allegations and is again...

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 4:

fighting the judgment i mean we're how many years later now you know i met that cop backstage too

00:55:04 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 6:

and that cop was actually a really good guy it was like just wrong place wrong time for him

00:55:08 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 1:

standing there by the stage hey it's trey songs waking up with my man mojo he says crazy and i

00:55:13 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 4:

love it it's all in the morning and this is becoming a big thing and it's not good ai nudify sites are generating around 40 million dollars per year and that number is multiplying real fast what is a nudified site so these are the platforms that let you upload photos so like I could upload a photo of you, and then via AI, it strips you naked. Oh, my God. I want to see what it looks like. Deep fake news of guys and girls. Don't you want to see that? Who the first person you put in there? Me. I want to see what I look like. Well, there are a lot of problems with this, as you can imagine, okay? There's a lot of child sex abuse content on there. Um, so despite all of this and how wrong it is, these sites, these, these AI nudify sites depend on big tech infrastructure. So like Amazon, Google, Cloudflare host and authenticate these sites, um, main street payment processors for subscriptions and credits exist. So through Google, Apple, Discord, they're trying really hard to manage it, but enforcement remains very, very inconsistent. So they're trying to combat it, but it's just happening so quickly, it's hard to keep up.

00:56:26 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 6:

If Misfit Victor is listening, Misfit Victor, because I don't want anybody around here doing this, I would like to see if you would upload a photo of me in this thing and just see what it looks like. Guarantee it's going to look better than what I look like naked. But, like, would you want to see what yourself would look like naked with AI, nudified, just to see if you would look better or worse by the AI version? No. Yeah. I don't have any interest, bro.

00:56:52 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 4:

No. I wouldn't even want to dabble in uploading a photo on any of those sites. You say you run into it.

00:56:58 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you, I wish life was a Snapchat filter. You know what I mean? I look so much better on Snapchat than I do anywhere else.

00:57:05 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to grab a winner, and then we got War of the Roses, so don't go anywhere. I cannot speak today. I'm having an issue today with speaking. Just trying to get that there. Little mouth exercises here, Alyssa, because you're a winner. Congratulations, Alyssa.

00:57:34 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much.

00:57:38 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 6:

Alyssa.

00:57:39 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 5:

I'm literally thinking.

00:57:41 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 6:

You, in the summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas, got in, and this is cool. She's got a wedding that she's planning. When's the wedding?

00:57:49 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 5:

I do. I do. It's actually my mom's 60th birthday, so September 19th of next year. Oh, wow.

00:57:55 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 6:

That's sweet. So you're going to get married on your mom's birthday. Is she okay with that? Was that something that she was excited about?

00:58:02 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It was the venue we've all loved, and that was, like, one of the only dates available. and I made sure a million times over if it was okay with her, but she was totally cool with it.

00:58:12 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 6:

I think that would be special.

00:58:13 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 4:

Now I'm curious what the venue is.

00:58:15 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's called the White Birch Wedding Barn in Cement City. Okay.

00:58:21 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 6:

I think that's cool. As a parent, wouldn't it be neat to be able to be there and not only share this great moment where your daughter is getting married, but then also it's a monumental birthday. It's a 60th birthday for her. So congrats. You're now qualified to win a 2025 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000 cash. Do you stop the wedding and sing happy birthday to your mom? You're going to do something for your mom at the birth. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I think so.

00:58:45 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I'd say it unsurprising or the cake and everything.

00:58:48 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 6:

I've seen that at some weddings. So I've actually seen where they've done that, you know, and then you can go into, you know, like the family dances and stuff like that, like your dance with dad and stuff. So hang on the phone for just one second. Congratulations to you, Gordon Chevrolet. Got to shout those guys out. And, of course, Green Flame Tequila.

00:59:08 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm Munga Shatikula, and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive. This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones, and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad...

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 9:

Bad science. I can make a brain for you, and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain, as opposed to his brain.

01:00:10 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 1:

Here are some hard truths. I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration. And get myself into a world of trouble.

01:00:24 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 4:

I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know. Listen to Skyline

Adriana thinks that her boyfriend is cheating. Adriana, who do you think that he's cheating with?

01:02:01 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. Like, I saw this number show up on CarPlay.

01:02:07 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, like his phone?

01:02:09 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 7:

Like his messages.

01:02:09 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 6:

Or like who he's called recently?

01:02:13 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we were driving, and a number popped up, and he, like, swiped up on it. And, like, I saw it later, and, like, I memorized.

01:02:25 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 2:

Did you ask who it was? Huh? Did you ask him who it was? Yeah, I was like, who's that?

01:02:32 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 6:

What did he say?

01:02:34 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 7:

He was just really dismissive with me and kind of wouldn't answer me.

01:02:39 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 6:

All right. You are going to find out whether or not he's cheating because we got that number. You took the number from the car play?

01:02:50 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 7:

I just memorized it. I'm impressed, by the way. That is pretty good, by the way. That is a woman that does not trust. Yes.

01:02:57 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 6:

All right, we're going to see what he sounds like when we call that number and his number at the same time and see how they sound talking to each other, okay?

01:03:07 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

01:03:09 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 6:

01:04:49 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 9:

01:04:49 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 8:

01:04:55 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 9:

My job is giving out two tickets, and I'm like, oh, I know a perfect person.

01:05:00 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

01:05:53 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 5:

Parker, do you think when you pick her up that you'll be bringing Adriana along with?

01:06:00 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:06:00 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 5:

Who is this? Do you think that you'll be bringing Adriana along with you when you go and pick this girl up that you're talking all this stuff to?

01:06:14 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Wait, why are we talking about Adriana?

01:06:18 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 5:

Whoever the girl is on the phone, do you know that this guy has got a girlfriend? Her name is Adriana, and she's actually right now listening to this conversation?

01:06:28 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Who is this?

01:06:35 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 5:

Parker, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show, and your girlfriend Adriana called us up because she suspected that you were cheating, and it doesn't sound like you're a faithful guy.

01:06:47 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 3:

um he's not cheating yeah i this is wild to me he your boy your boyfriend is not cheating on you like we yeah we're just in the training program together and we were talking about flying to miami because yeah i heard for a trip together you're flying to miami uh-huh well you know he

01:07:13 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

He told me he was visiting his family.

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 2:

This is some bull****.

01:07:15 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 3:

What the hell? So you call him and, like, you're going to be rude to him like this? Like, this is your thing? This is crazy.

01:07:26 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 5:

By the way, Parker just hung up the phone. Whoever you are, this girl that's on the phone right now, that guy's girlfriend is listening and heard everything that you just said, and you try to play it off like it's not that you guys are messing around with each other?

01:07:45 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's not that serious. We're not messing around. Did you know that he had a girlfriend? Yeah, of course. But I thought you guys just were not that good for each other, honestly. Like, from what he says about you. Like, I just feel like, you know, it's not working out, maybe. If you're going to freak out.

01:08:08 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 4:

What does he say about me?

01:08:12 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 3:

What did he say about you? I don't know. He just said that you guys weren't getting along, which, like, you know, he didn't say anything more about it, so I just assumed. I just, like, don't want to get involved with all of that. Well, it's way too late.

01:08:27 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 4:

Way too late.

01:08:29 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 5:

I think you're involved. That shit pursuit.

01:08:33 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Sounds like, honestly, you guys deserve each other because you're both just sketchy and just have fun, have fun.

01:08:40 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 5:

Adriana, hang on one second.

01:08:42 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:09:06 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 1:

I don't understand how you can deny that anything is going on when you're talking about ripping off each other's clothes. Right.

01:09:27 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

It's pretty clear, bro. But they're going to go to a hot place. I mean, it's going to be hot and humid and all the rest of that stuff. or there was this three-way call just a little bit ago where a girlfriend catches her boyfriend with another girl and he was talking to her obviously so much that her number appeared on his phone's apple car play system this is an interesting one and i i'd love to ask this question of listeners are you as nosy as i am when i get into a person's car here.

01:10:00 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 2:

I always look to see what numbers they frequently dial or recently dial. I do this all the time. I'm in Steve Gabbara's car. I'm in his expedition, his Ford expedition. I'm looking to see who he's calling up, trying to see exactly what Stevie G's up to. What's up, Amanda? Where are the roses? Your comments on this one.

01:10:21 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I was going to say that that girl did not sound interested in him at first. She was like, oh, yeah. ha ha ha like that's how i found talking to creepy guys at the bar if i'm like just trying to get

01:10:34 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

them to buy me a drink i feel like she was talking to somebody else going along with it at first like i feel like when we started to merge the numbers she there was somebody else she was talking to

01:10:45 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 7:

i don't know yeah i don't know but he was like talking and like kind of flirting with her and she was just like oh my god you're so crazy ha ha ha so i don't know maybe he's got money and She was using him for that or something.

01:10:58 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 2:

My favorite is that you admit that you actually play the creepy guys. You actually mess with those creepy guys.

01:11:04 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 7:

A free drink is a free drink.

01:11:07 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

You know what? At least you're honest, Amanda. That's what we love you for. Thank you for the call.

01:11:11 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely.

01:11:12 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you. You're welcome. What's going on, Candace?

01:11:16 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 6:

She literally said we have to peel each other's clothes off. Yes. I know. I'm like, take accountability. If you're a cheater, you're a cheater.

01:11:24 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey, question for you on nosiness. When you get into a car, it doesn't make a difference who it is. It could be your guys. It could be your friends. Do you ever look at their, you know what we're talking about when we talk about Apple CarPlay for those people that don't maybe have it or something? It's right down the dashboard. It connects to your car, and it shows you your phone calls and stuff?

01:11:44 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. My wife has Apple CarPlay, and I'm totally, like, I play around with it all the time.

01:11:51 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 2:

So do you look to see who she's calling?

01:11:53 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 5:

no i mean i don't look to see who she's calling but yeah i mean if a number pops up i'll be like

01:11:59 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 2:

oh who's that oh yeah yeah yeah i'm nosy though like i i look at it all the time i try to see

01:12:05 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 1:

what's going on i you can't really help but look at it if it's on that screen with messages or

01:12:11 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 2:

calls it's right there look away the other thing too driving yourself crazy the other thing too and i and i'd love to know from anybody that's ever caught somebody through any kind of a device like that um are you smart enough to be able to memorize the number or write the number down because that was pretty amazing that adriana was able to recall that number and that was the reason why we were able to do that three-way hi duane what's up it's mojo in the morning good morning

01:12:36 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 4:

i don't know why we always blame the the new person when it's the boyfriend or girlfriend the one that's the pos you know the the new person's just being presented with what they're being shown they don't really know what's going on but uh i don't know why people drag other people along if they're not happy they should just let them go yeah i that's the thing he did

01:13:00 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 2:

not seem so concerned with adriana with his girlfriend and it always makes me wonder about the relationship and where that relationship went wrong or is this guy just one of those guys is just looking for as many people as he possibly can in his life you know the girl was actually sticking up for him like did you notice that the girl that uh that we you know called in the three-way i don't i we didn't catch the name or anything but she was trying to hide it was almost

01:13:30 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 4:

like she was trying to hide the fact for him yeah yeah when when just 30 seconds prior she was

01:13:35 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

talking about hopping in the shower yeah yeah that was uh but they're good did you notice also I don't know, Dwayne, if you caught this, and Shannon and Kev, did you notice that they're getting together tomorrow? There was that thing that she said, yeah, we're going to see each other tomorrow, which makes me wonder exactly what's going on.

01:13:54 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 4:

And I can't wait for tomorrow.

01:13:56 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 2:

I wish it was today. Yeah, I know. I can't wait for tomorrow. I wish it was today. Thanks, Dwayne. I appreciate your call. Text her here at 95500 says that they caught their ex cheating the same way. They looked at past numbers and saw a number popping up on the phone all the time. Another person here said that they look at their co-workers' car plays all the time just to see what they're doing.

01:14:23 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

You would be nosy, bro.

01:14:25 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, it shows up on the screen. I wonder if there's a setting on there where you can hide it so people don't see it.

01:14:33 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't even know if I have. I don't think I have my contact list added to my car.

01:14:39 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

So when you, when I, so I just recently got into a new lease and when I got into the new lease, I connected my phone to it. And when you connect it, it will say something. Would you like to, and you see, I pressed yes on that. Cause I want all my stuff in there. Do you do it for rental cars too? I have done it for rental cars, but does it stay, wait, does it stay in a rental car? Okay.

01:14:58 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 1:

So we just had a rental car when we were. were on vacation and there were two other people's you can't see anything but it still shows it in the list their bluetooth was connected there that it shows their car play had been connected but it's not like i could hit on that random person's and like see all their stuff but

01:15:13 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 2:

it's still there hi tina what's up it's mojo in the morning war of the roses good morning

01:15:18 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 6:

so you have to follow me on this story so i was following my boss in her in a rental car she had in her car um because she had some type of issue she had to get fixed so we're driving and we're at a light so because i'm in her main car her main car picked up apple play from her phone in the other car she was driving because we were that close stopped at a stoplight together yeah and it picked up the conversation she was having with a married man that she was having

01:15:48 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

an affair with oh my god wait how much did you catch well i talked i caught him talking about

01:15:56 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 6:

how he wanted to slip his hand under her shirt for some cheap thrills and talk about being frozen in time i'm like oh my god don't breathe tina don't breathe you don't want anybody to know that you can hear this conversation it was horrible i didn't know what to do i was in panicked i was like please don't understand that i this phone number there this phone picked up

01:16:14 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, and he disappeared probably in her car, so she must have thought, oh, God, you heard it, or did you ever confront her on it?

01:16:22 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 6:

Well, he was like, are you there? Are you there? Because then her phone part must have went silent, and she didn't respond to him because it was picking up on the Apple CarPlay.

01:16:29 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

You could have responded if you wanted to. You know that? That it was connected to your car if you heard it?

01:16:35 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I could have, but I was panicked.

01:16:38 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:16:39 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 6:

I was panicked. That was crazy. And so, yeah, and we still work together. this was a couple of years ago it's just one of those things i have a mental note of that should

01:16:47 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 2:

i ever need to pull it out wow that's amazing back pocket ashley you caught your boyfriend

01:16:54 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 3:

and apples to blame what happened um so we were at my house on the couch um cuddling so he had his arm around me and he got attacked from his apple watch and you know i'm just a little curious i mean we've been together for a little over a year so i'm like okay like i'll just you know nothing crazy i didn't assume anything was going on and sure enough he was texting another girl

01:17:17 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 2:

and was cheating wow you know what's funny is we've had a war of the roses before where the apple watch was the reason that we figured it out because you delete things off your phone but they don't delete off of your apple watch and the guy the guy was dumb uh we've had one with the ipad

01:17:35 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 1:

too remember the ipad was left at home and she could see her we've had a few with apple i feel

01:17:40 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Francis? Hi, Francis. Francis is listening to the radio there. We'll go to the next call. What's up, Sarah?

01:17:53 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, did you guys notice that he said he won or that he could get the tickets through work, but then she came along and said that they were in the same training together? That's a little peculiar.

01:18:03 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. Yeah, they must obviously work together, right? I wonder what the thing is that he's going to work-wise.

01:18:09 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but if he said at my job, why did he say at our job or our job, our work is giving you away?

01:18:16 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's interesting. No, I never thought, boy, I didn't listen to that. I don't know what that means, but that's interesting. Francis, what's up, Francis?

01:18:26 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi, so I've been dating somebody for like nine months. I mean, I'm 99.9% sure that he has never cheated in, you know, he's consistent. He is not a phone person, blah, blah, blah. But we went on a trip together about three or four months in. And on the way home, his ex called on the car play. But that's because she was watching their dog. But when it showed up, it said her name and it was pink. I don't know. It still bothers me. I mean, right then, I talked to him about it. So, I mean, he said that it was her. He said it. He said it. He goes, she usually just texts me. I got to get, and he said his dog's name back tonight, which is true, because they do share that.

01:19:11 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay. But why is, I wonder why her name's in pink.

01:19:14 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 1:

That's what I don't understand. You can do that. Oh, I know.

01:19:17 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

Unless that's how. I know. And then he never changed it over maybe after the breakup. But this is interesting. So this is something that's recent and it still bothers you, huh?

01:19:25 - 01:19:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think that's me because I'm insecure, but I, he doesn't know that because I'm, I'm really trying not to be that way in this relationship. And, I mean, like I said, honestly, he's a good person, and I don't think he would ever cheat on me. But I still get anxious about that because they were together for 12 years and she broke up with him.

01:19:44 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, and there's still communication because of the dog.

01:19:47 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 2:

If it goes on longer and you start freaking out more on this, you call us back and we'll get you here and we'll try to help you out.

01:19:54 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thanks.

01:19:55 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, Frances, good luck. Don't let your head go into places that you shouldn't go. sometimes

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes you let your imagination get the best of you, and it really freaks you out, especially if you're not confident in yourself.

01:20:07 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, that definitely happens to me all the time, and I'm working on it. Let's just say that.

01:20:12 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 2:

And if you love each other and this is something that's really bothering you, then communicate it to him. Yeah, tell him. And really be honest and truthful. And if he's the guy for you, he'll understand your concern and put it at ease.

01:20:21 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. And if he doesn't and gets all defensive, then there's something there.

01:20:25 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 4:

He wasn't defensive, and he actually told me it was her when it happened. And so I guess that's pretty good. Yeah.

01:20:31 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 3:

Good. Thanks, Francis, for the call. I appreciate it.

01:20:33 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:20:34 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 3:

We're giving you a chance to win a brand-new 2025 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000 cash. We'll have that for you in a little bit. Lydia, Lydia, Lydia. Should we do our Wiz Khalifa contest right now? Yes. Cush and Tell. Cush and Tell here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Cush and Tell is a contest where we're giving you a chance to meet Wiz Khalifa. Wiz Khalifa and DaBaby are going to be at Little Caesars, or not Little Caesars, Pynab, which is better because they need to air that place out if Little Caesars, both those guys are going to be there. They'll be at Pynab next week, and we've got tickets and a chance to meet Wiz Khalifa. We want to hear your craziest, funniest, most unbelievably incredible high story. What was the story that you've got to tell us about the high moment that happened in your life that was pretty damn funny or crazy? Yesterday, they said stories were good. How about the guy that called us up and told us, and he was the winner yesterday, he qualified and won. He said that he named his kid, he's such a stoner. Yeah. He named his kid after Wiz Khalifa.

01:23:02 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 2:

Wasn't that great?

01:23:04 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 3:

So 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Yeah. All right, here we go. Lydia, are we ready?

01:23:12 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 2:

I said the sun has it.

01:23:13 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dog, been ready. Are you okay? Barb, are you ready?

01:23:18 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 4:

I am ready.

01:23:19 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 3:

How long ago were you ready, Barb?

01:23:23 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 4:

Like five minutes ago. Move on. Move on.

01:23:29 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 3:

You know what, Barb? We were just wrapping some stuff up here.

01:23:34 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 4:

And we need to wrap it up.

01:23:36 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right, thanks, Barb. Here we go. All right, chance to win tickets to see Wiz Khalifa and DaBaby and meet Wiz Khalifa, your best high moment. George, are you there? Hey, what's up, Mojo? How you doing, George? I can't complain. All right, your best high story for us.

01:23:57 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

So a couple years ago, a year ago, whatever, I went down to Tennessee to visit a buddy of mine with another buddy of mine, And as we're hanging out, I decided to take, like, 600 milligrams of edibles. Oh, jeez. 600? Like a horse drink. Yes. I mean, I took it with me in case, you know, somebody wanted to indulge with me down in Tennessee, considering it's not legal. And my buddy had maybe a little too much to drink. And on the way home, you're back to his place, excuse me, he ended up getting pulled over. and when it got pulled over i freaked out because obviously i'm not supposed to have that down there yeah so my my freak out thing was i just ingested all 600 milligrams oh my god so so uh right after he got doing his whole like um uh field sobriety test i ended up taking him him because he resists, he declined the

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 2:

breathalyzer so they ended up arresting him and uh in that process i decided to uh they they gave me the whole test to see if i could uh continue on and drive his vehicle and i was able to pass

01:25:13 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 5:

wow because they were testing for alcohol not for weed and they didn't kick in exactly and

01:25:20 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 2:

they didn't kick in and i was still like an hour away from his house from where we're at So, yeah, that was a fun drive back to his place.

01:25:28 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, that's horrible. That's interesting because that's so funny. He tried to swallow the evidence to keep himself out of jail. What was the high like off of 600 milligrams of gummies?

01:25:42 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 2:

It was pretty interesting, I have to admit. The thing that messed it up the most is because I was so concerned about my buddy going to jail. So that kind of did do a great job for me at night.

01:25:54 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 5:

I bet. Oh, my God. All right, hold on. He's contestant number one for this one. I got to figure out where the hold button is now. All right, here. I got a contact high off of him, even though they're edibles. Abby, you're contestant number two for the Wiz Khalifa Cush Intel. What's going on?

01:26:09 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 3:

hi good morning morning so um i just want to pre-warn you this is kind of nasty but it's kind of funny at the same time so i was very intoxicated with um you know the stuff anyways so i was with some friends outside and we were eating ice cream and whatnot and i was very very high at that point and so i looked down at the picnic table and i was like oh there's like some my ice cream you know what I'm saying and like I said I was very high and so I scraped it off of the picnic table little did I know everybody was laughing at me because it was fur poop and oh no gross yeah and like I went for seconds and everybody was just looking at me and they were laughing I didn't understand and obviously it was not ice cream because it was hard on the

01:27:02 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what kind of ice cream are we talking in the hair?

01:27:07 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 3:

The kind that looks like bird poop. Cookies and cream. That's funny.

01:27:14 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 4:

That's low-key the best time. That is actually funny.

01:27:16 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 3:

Definitely built my immune system for sure.

01:27:19 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 5:

All right, Abby's contestant number two. One last one here right now. Let's go to Carrie. Hi, Carrie. How you doing? Carrie?

01:27:30 - 01:27:30 | Unknown:

Carrie.

01:27:30 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 5:

carry a chance to meet Wiz Khalifa. You're going to ruin it now. Is she there? I think she's there. I think she's not talking. Here, Lydia, you can go talk.

01:27:41 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 1:

I can hear, like, the phone. Yeah.

01:27:43 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 5:

I think that sometimes, you know what it is? It's your Bluetooth systems in your car. I can tell when it is, and they muted us, or they did something, and then all of a sudden. Oh, damn it. Damn it.

01:27:57 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 4:

She wanted to smoke one after this.

01:27:58 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 5:

All right, we'll go to you then next. Who's this? Hi, Mojo in the Morning. Hello.

01:28:02 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, it's Steffi.

01:28:03 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Steffi. How are you? It's last contestant for the Wiz Khalifa cushion towel. What's your story?

01:28:10 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. Hey, Steffi on the phone.

01:28:15 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 5:

Let's hear your story.

01:28:17 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 3:

I was at the Yacht Rock thing this weekend for iHeart. Oh, were you?

01:28:20 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 4:

Wait, we had an iHeart Yacht Rock thing? Mr. Momy. Why were we not invited to that?

01:28:29 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 3:

There was a Yacht Rock event, yep.

01:28:31 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 5:

Was it?

01:28:31 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Because you guys are, because you're 92.5.

01:28:35 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. Well, that bums me. That bums me out that I didn't get an invite. I would have gone to that. I love Yacht Rock. Okay, go ahead. What's your story? No kidding.

01:28:45 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't really have one. I've seen Wiz Khalifa and Snoop. But I just wanted to let you guys know that. That there was a show. Yeah.

01:28:51 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 5:

Okay, thank you for the info. I appreciate it. No, that's all right. Hi, Christina. Do you got a Wiz Khalifa story for us?

01:28:59 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is her boyfriend, but we're calling in. Hi. I do got a story.

01:29:03 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

You got it. Okay, give me your hi. What's your name? My name is Greg. Hi, Greg. Greg, let's hear it. Last one. Otherwise, George or Abby is going to win.

01:29:12 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right, you want me to go ahead? Yeah, go ahead. All right, so I'm off parole and everything. This was a couple years ago. I managed to make it off and everything. Oh, this is going to be good. So I'm off parole. I'm not supposed to be smoking. I'm not supposed to be doing anything, but we're smoking. I go up to this dude's apartment, and we got a couple girls in there, and so we're smoking, and we got the music blaring, and we're in an apartment building, so the department's all around us, and somebody calls it in, it's about 11, 12 at night, and I'm so high, so it was making us paranoid, the cops, and he's like, somebody's knocking at the door, and I'm like, who is it, who is it, don't answer it, I'm on parole, what's going on, he tells me he's got guns in the other room, I'm not, I could do a lot of time just for being in the house, with his guns.

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:30:00 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm so paranoid that he goes, I'm like, don't answer the line. Hold on. You can't. Wait. You can't say I had to dump your what the F, okay? Can you keep it clean the rest of the way, Greg? I apologize.

01:30:12 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sorry.

01:30:13 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so Greg's at the house, and he answers the door with guns in the other room, and he's on parole. Go ahead.

01:30:21 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 4:

Yep. So he says he gave him his ID, and I said, why would you do that? you don't have to do that what's going on with you man like are you okay and he's like well i just i figured to be able you know what happened for one he didn't have to answer the door i get so annoyed because he's like i got a warrant and i'm like well they're coming back and they're coming in so i i got a home girl i got my home girl there with me i jump out the second story window and fall over and do a tuck and roll i'm kind i'm kind of athletic so i made it What happened to the homegirl? The homegirl gets up. She was so fried. She was on the couch. She looks up. She said, where's Greg? And they're like, he jumped out the... So he jumped out the window. She says, oh, my God. He said, well, the cops. And she got nervous, too. She was so paranoid. So she jumps out the window. She broke her arm.

01:31:19 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 3:

She's not as athletic as you. Whoa. Oh, my God. I thought horrible, because I didn't say nothing. Hold on. I don't know about you guys. Wait, real quick. Ten speed. Real quick. He came to pick her up on a ten speed and took her to the hospital. What? And I was hiding out. Oh, my God. Hold on. I'm sorry. This is the winner. That's it. You can't get any better than that. I'm sorry about George, who took 600 milligrams of gummies. Abby, who ate bird poop. But the fact that this guy had to tuck and roll and jump out of a second-story wheel and his girl had to get picked up on a 10-speed. Yeah. Yeah. Hold on a second, man. That's good. That was so good. Why don't we do this? Can we qualify all three of these guys just for the sake of it? Just because I feel bad. All three. All three of you guys get qualified. Abby and George, girl. There we go. You're all in the running to meet and hang out with Wiz Khalifa. Congratulations to you guys.

01:32:19 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate you.

01:32:20 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's awesome. Thank you. All right. Hold on the phone for just one second. I was a little worried about where George's story. Me too. I'm sorry, Greg's story was going. It was getting a little long. It was still going. There was more. But you know what the most interesting thing is? When you're taking somebody to a hospital, pulling up on a 10-speed is kind of an interesting one in the emergency room.

01:32:43 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Be part of the show. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:32:51 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is Mojo in the morning. Shannon had a little personal retreat. I like this because I think this is something that we're going to all kind of hear you talk about. And then maybe we should all be doing this.

01:33:04 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 1:

So that's what I did on Friday evening. I blacked out three hours of my day. I was solo on Friday. Wes and my stepkids were in Grand Haven for like this beach pole vault tournament. My kids were with their dad. So I'm solo. And I just felt like and I have been feeling like it would be super beneficial for me to recalibrate, as I say. That's good. I feel like I need to do this every couple of years and probably sooner than that, more and more lately, and just really dig deep to figure out who I am, especially right now. I feel like over the past couple of years, I've lost a little bit of my identity. My identity has changed, right, in the situations that I've been in.

01:33:54 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 3:

When you say that, are you saying because of your life took a turn and you got remarried and now you have a whole new family living with you?

01:34:02 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, not only that, but my identity changed in that I became a wife again. I became a stepmom. My kids are getting older. So I'm trying to figure out how to parent bigger kids instead of babies, essentially. You know, my career has stayed the same, but it's shifted in some ways. We're kind of entering a new chapter and just my, you know, different things happening in my family and friends. I have felt lately really just not good with my faith. Like I felt really distant from Jesus and that was, was bugging me a lot. So my therapist and I decided that this would be a really good thing for me to do. So that's what I did on Friday. I sat and journaled and I did some, um, I made these like huge posters and, you know, did tons of writing and, um, some devotionals and just really like sat in the silence and listened to myself.

01:34:58 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting because I...

01:35:00 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 2:

When I hear you say that and do that, I'm like, wow, this sounds great. I think if I was doing it, I would have a hard time doing it because I would feel like sometimes silence for me is the worst thing ever because I'm around so much noise all the time that when I'm around silence, I feel more anxious. So you just sat there and just kind of had some thinking going on and then wrote down what you were thinking about?

01:35:22 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 1:

Purposely did nothing. Did nothing. Had no music on nothing. I mean, and I really, my categories, I guess you could say, were who am I, who do I want to bring, or who do I want to be, and what brings me joy? Like, what do I need to do more of in my life? But to just slow down and really think about those things, it's not an easy thing.

01:35:46 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I'm glad you did it. I mean, just based on what we talk about sometimes and looking at your calendar, you don't have many moments, let alone hours, in order just to relax and focus on yourself. Did you feel differently out of it?

01:35:59 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 1:

I felt differently out of it, and I always do. And now I try to make these little shifts, these little changes, because I want to move more toward the category of who do I want to be. I want to be doing more things that bring me joy instead of things that are just on my calendar that I've said yes to. And I also think that in the busy, I lose a lot of those things. I lose a lot of myself and I lose a lot of the girl that God created me to be. Right. Because you just you like assume this identity that society creates for you and you just go with it instead of kind of pausing.

01:36:34 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever have you ever gone? Because I stopped journaling a while ago. I think I journaled and did it more when I was really in the heat of a therapy when I was going through some of my biggest struggles and our biggest struggles in our marriage. You ever go back and read your journals?

01:36:51 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 1:

I did that. So I was really good at journaling in the period of time when I was going through a divorce and before I met Wes. When I was really by myself, I was so good at journaling and I got away from that. And I think that that was really helpful to me. I need to get back into that. Even this, my therapist, Karen, was like, do not do this work on your computer. Write it out.

01:37:16 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 3:

Write it out.

01:37:16 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 1:

It's so different or else you're going to get really distracted.

01:37:19 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

To your point about being closer to God, that's biblical, too. Writing the vision is something about putting pen to paper, pencil to paper, that is in a way a direct connection to the spirit.

01:37:30 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 2:

I also feel like the actual thing you're writing in has to almost fit that, too. So I always go out and get like a moleskin, one of those little books, and I'll write it in there because I want it to close because I don't want it to be wide open for pages to either get ripped off or to have others like just go and be able to just see. And it's weird because I filled up a couple of moleskins back in the day and I went back and read some of them years later. And I was reading some of them crying, realizing how much pain I was going through at the time and how much pain I was causing others. You know, that's pretty cool. That's awesome that you you did that. How how was it received? Because I feel like when I do this and if I do it, I always feel like I'm not going to tell Chels about it because I always feel embarrassed that she's going to think that I'm in a bad place or something. And it's weird to say that because I should be able to tell her when I'm in the worst places because she's always going to be there for me. But sometimes you just don't want to tell somebody.

01:38:33 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 1:

So it's funny that you say that because Wes was asking me again. He was out of town and he was like, what are you doing tonight? And I said, oh, I'm having a personal retreat. And I showed him it was on my calendar. I had it was important enough to me that I had blocked out time to make sure I said no to everything else. And he was like, is everything OK? Are you OK? Are you unhappy? Are you not happy with me or our marriage? And I was like, no, no, no, no, no. It's a me thing. I need to reset. I feel very off. And, you know, but he was terrified.

01:39:04 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 2:

And honestly, I get that. I get Wes's thing because if Chelsea told me that, I would feel the same way. I'd be worried about how she's feeling about us. But then also, I don't say anything to her because I don't want her to think that I'm kind of going through such a bad time. and she's there's weak weakness is such a vulnerability and weakness and showing your showing like a weak moment is a great thing I love when we do it on our show because I think it is some of the most compelling stuff that we talk about sometimes you don't want your significant other to see or family to see that because you feel like they're going to look at you differently and they're going to feel like they have to like help you pick up the pieces and you are the only

01:39:42 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 3:

person that can pick up your piece for sure do you think that's just human instinct to immediately be like is there something i'm doing wrong or is there are we okay yeah i think so because you're

01:39:53 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

in a relationship right you're that's what a relationship's all about or a family is all about

01:39:57 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 3:

but i wonder like if you i mean i guess if you live with the idea that maybe there's something wrong but like you know what i mean like if if you're happy if your spouse is happy if you feel happy i'm just trying i'm just thinking out loud

01:40:10 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 2:

when he asked me that question of what are you going to do tonight he thought my answer was going to be oh i'm going to go out with ash and carrie and jess and linds and we're going to go grab dinner and he didn't expect me to say i'm sitting home for three hours and i'm journaling

01:40:24 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 3:

you know just the immediacy of being like are we okay i mean maybe i would have just did the same

01:40:29 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 4:

thing i'm just trying to understand like i i but you and i had a conversation yesterday kevin and i sat down and had a conversation and i was talking to him about having reset moments and i said to him i go when you have a reset moment you don't always have to go somewhere or you know like a vacation taking vacation time sometimes it's good to have these moments because i feel like that's when you get did you feel restful at the end of the deal or did it make you i felt so filled

01:40:51 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 2:

up i really did yeah because just to put all of the thoughts that have been going crazy in my head to paper and then look at them and go okay i need to make some changes here it was really really

01:41:02 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 4:

good um i i also think that it's natural instinct like i said to you yesterday i go everything okay you're doing okay what's going on whatever the deal is so that's why i see where wes would say that uh to shannon when she's like no i'm just sitting home journaling and trying to catch myself it's like you would automatically feel like we're all natural i think we're all natural

01:41:23 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 2:

fixers wouldn't you say that or he is very much a fixer Wes is and it's it's actually and I don't I don't want to say an issue but it's something that we constantly have to talk about in our marriage of if I open up to him about something I'm vulnerable or I tell him a story about something his natural instinct is not to listen but to give me 10,000 solutions which he's so great at but there's it happened this weekend I was like I just wanted you to listen I don't need you to

01:41:48 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 4:

fix it you know what that's called it's called being a guy yeah for sure that's honestly I think that's my guy buddies and I have conversations all the time and they'll they'll uh say one of the guys says to me all the time he always will ask me he's like give me some advice here like right now like what is just something naturally just out of the blue that you learned through your years of being married and I said not everything she says does she want me to fix She just wants to be heard. Yeah. And that was that. I wish I would have learned that thing 25 years ago. You know what I mean?

01:42:23 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 2:

He's gotten a lot better about saying before I start telling him something, do you want me to, is this a situation where you want me to listen or do you want me to give you advice?

01:42:30 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I remember when I was going through some relationships and going through therapy, I think a therapist in the same vein of do, do, do, do, do, solve, solve, solve. It was like, you're looking at a relationship as something you do instead of something that you are.

01:42:44 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:42:44 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 3:

and when I shifted it that way I stopped wanting to do things and be things and well do things and solve things and started to become a part of the thing that's happening and like through becoming a part of it I was able to solve with instead of solving for and you know what and that I think

01:43:01 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 4:

honestly is something that to to that's another thing like even journal like that statement that you just said because sometimes you almost need to see it on paper to read it you know I'm telling

01:43:13 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 2:

you this is take 20 minutes today or whenever you can if you don't even have 20 minutes today trust me i get that but take some time for yourself it's it really helps so much i'm going to read

01:43:23 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 4:

some of these text messages but i don't want to screw it up because lydia's got uh uh is trying to call some of these people but if you could just text us there's a couple of really good ones here heidi what's up hi how's it going good what's going on you want to comment yeah so um i'm

01:43:42 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 1:

I need to try this. Thank you. Another texter here says, this is 734. Shannon, you sharing this just gave me the plan that I'm going to be doing later this afternoon.

01:44:52 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 2:

Put it on your calendar. Because if you don't, you're going to put something else there.

01:44:55 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 4:

Another texter, and this is from 248. says i am sitting here right now realizing how i don't do enough for myself hearing shannon talk about that that is a great self moment uh self-care is really good brendan what's up it's mojo in the morning hi what's up how you doing fantastic what's going on bud

01:45:18 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 3:

i just wanted to uh mention about the journal um i don't know if you guys remember me but i actually met you guys a few weeks ago i told you the story about my dad and i moved back home from florida yes yeah yeah yeah that was one of the like key contributing factors when i was like kind of making my decision was uh i started going to therapy to try and help me like figure it out and uh what the first thing he made me start doing was journaling and trying to decide what i really wanted out of life if i wanted to be closer to family or if i wanted to continue to pursue my dream in florida so if it wasn't for that journal i probably wouldn't even have came

01:46:01 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 4:

back to michigan who knows that's awesome buddy continue it too because now it's going to take

01:46:06 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 3:

you even further than just you moving back oh no yeah for sure it's definitely helped a lot with anxiety and mental health in general.

01:46:15 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. 734's Audrey, Brendan, says, what the hell is a moleskin? You know what a moleskin is, don't you? It's the... Who, me? Yeah, you know what a moleskin is? No, I don't know what a moleskin is. You need a shot for it. No, it's the little book that...

01:46:35 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 1:

It's basically like a leather journal.

01:46:37 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 4:

You can buy them at, like, I don't know, at Harry Potter Land. at the staples or something i don't know what's up jen good morning how are you mojo good what's

01:46:50 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 2:

going on i just wanted to add when you guys were talking about like that you knowing that everything your wife says that chelsea says doesn't mean you need to fix it yes so to that kind of parallel point my husband it we're 20 years married 21 years together and second marriage rose left but It took him 17 years to realize if I came home and something crazy happened and I wanted to tell the story of this crud, I tell it with all of the animation, all the anger, all the everything, and he would get so intense for so many years and be like, calm down, which would just make me lose it. if he just let me get all that energy out and tell the story as animated as I wanted to, I would immediately then go, can you believe that? And then we would be fine.

01:47:46 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:47:46 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

So we were like fights that would go on for hours because he was like, you know, but you're losing your, you know, trying to teach me how to calm down or breathe through something. And I'm going, it already happened. I need to get it out.

01:47:58 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes. You know, what's funny though, is that we have to kind of give a little grace because I think that he's caring about you and that's his reason why he wants you to be that way. But there are two words that guys need to understand. Don't ever say calm down to a wife or girlfriend. Just be like just be like for real? Yes. Calm down is bad. Calm down is basically saying you're nuts. You don't ever say that. Uppercut fuel. Yeah, exactly. Well, thank you, guys. Take care of yourself.

01:48:32 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, 2025 Radio Hall of Famer. Congrats, Mojo. You're a big shot.

01:48:39 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

These are the dumbest things. Hey, it's real, though. Tony Travato. I'm going to journal about that, son of a... I talked to Tony yesterday. He's in Seattle right now working on radio stations out there. Okay. And I know he's got to be doing some kind of an illegal narcotic out there. That's Seattle. I said to him, I said it's Seattle. Everybody in Seattle seems like they're all crazy on drugs. All right, 844 Mojo Live, 95th caller. I'm running a little late with this. The summer of cars, cash, and gas. Win a free gas card courtesy of Green Flame Tequila and qualify for a brand-new car from Gordon Chevrolet.

01:49:16 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:49:19 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, what have you got in this hour's dirty?

01:49:21 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 1:

Everybody was talking about this yesterday. I know my group of friends was this news that Britney Spears had adopted a little girl and named her Lennon London Spears. And people were getting this from a post on her social media, which I did not see. And I think it's been taken down because I don't see anything on there right now that alludes to this, but it was some sort of post and then some emojis that kind of alluded to the fact that she did this, the use of a baby carrier in the post and dolls. Anyway, I'm here to tell you it is not true. It was a joke. She did not adopt a child. There's no record of adoption of a child or even a pet with her legal name. So I guess also in the clip or the post that people are talking about, she said she was going to be moving to Italy.

01:50:07 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 2:

And that's maybe that's the only thing. No, she's not. OK, yeah.

01:50:12 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 1:

Stevie Wonder, 75 years old, joking around about the rumor that he can actually see and he just pretends to be blind.

01:50:22 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 3:

I must say to all of you something that I was thinking, when did I want to let the world know this? But I want to say it right now. You know, there have been rumors about me seeing and all that, but seriously, you know the truth. The truth is, shortly after my birth, I became blind. Now, that was a blessing because it's allowed me to see the world in the vision of truth, of sight, see people in the spirit of them, not how they look, not what color they are, but what color is their spirit.

01:51:21 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 1:

That's a beautiful speech. I know he started off kind of joking, but that was a beautiful speech.

01:51:26 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 2:

I thought he was going to actually say, I can see, and he was going to do it. I was excited. I thought this was breaking dirty news.

01:51:31 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 1:

I just called to say I love you. He's joked about it in the past before. I remember him and Justin Bieber having a back and forth about it.

01:51:41 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 2:

I love Stevie.

01:51:42 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Seattle Mariners star Cal Raleigh becoming the first catcher to win the home run derby yesterday.

01:51:50 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is something else.

01:51:55 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 1:

That's something else. Hang on one second. I know what that is. Okay. So he is only the second Mariner to win the Derby joining Ken Griffey Jr., who won, I think he won three different times, but just a dream season for him so far. And then I saw during yesterday's game, this is the clip right here.

01:52:10 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday's home run Derby.

01:52:11 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 1:

Or yesterday's home run Derby, sorry. There was a kid, right, who caught one of the home runs.

01:52:16 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 2:

So, for those that don't understand what the Home Run Derby is, the Home Run Derby, they're pitching basically batting practice to these guys that are the biggest, you know, home run hitters. And there are kids out in the field that are shagging the balls that don't go into the stands. And they all are part of, like, you know, maybe a charity or something like that. Yeah. Well, you want to let the ball go over the wall. This kid jumped up and did one of those great catches.

01:52:39 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 1:

But he caught it. Let's go.

01:52:41 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 3:

As is Major League Baseball, and this, yeah, that looks like it would have been a home run, fellas.

01:52:48 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 2:

They did. I saw the umpire down there. He went right away with the home run sign.

01:52:52 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 1:

They still counted it, by the way. They counted it as a home run. Wow, memory of a lifetime. For all of today's 30, catch up on everything you missed. You can listen to the podcasts from the week. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:53:48 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 3:

Quick.

01:53:57 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 2:

I'll be there. We'll see you at Gordon Chevrolet. Thank you to Green Flame Tequila for the $50 Kroger gas card that we're going to be sending to William. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. I'm trying to think what I put up here next for next topic. I think I got Kev here next. Me? Yes. Kev up next. You. And the phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Kev, when I saw the pictures from last week of Bianca and Zach hanging out in front of your apartment to wake you up to get you into work, I looked at your apartment and I go, that's a nice looking apartment.

01:54:36 - 01:54:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay, your apartment is so nice.

01:54:38 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 2:

It's pretty nice. I appreciate it. And the neighbors seem like they take care of things around there, too.

01:54:42 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 1:

Everybody has a cute little doormat, flowers.

01:54:47 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 2:

So I didn't see the video. I probably need to go back and watch because I wonder if they showed these particular neighbors that are a little left of me. And I don't know if you guys have neighbors that are petty or neighbors that are competitive. with each other? Does that ever happen in your neighborhood, whether it's your lawn or maybe the Christmas lights? You got people that go above and beyond? Oh, they're competitive, I would say, more so than anything. Competitive, bro. And I have some competitive neighbors. I feel like it started in the wintertime with Christmas reefs. For some reason, it was like, okay, that's a nice reef. And then I saw another nice reef. Then I came the next day, and the first nice reef had gotten nicer. And then the second nice reef had gotten nicer. How do you say reef? Reef. I love you. Like reefer, but without the err on there, it's a reef. It's R-E-E-F, not W-R-E-A. Okay, I got you. No, that's a reef. So now the summertime, the seasons have changed, but the competition hasn't. And they went away with the Christmas, excuse me, they went away with the Christmas reefs. And one neighbor just took the reef off. The other neighbor changed their reef into like a summer reef.

01:55:54 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes.

01:55:54 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 2:

And they started doing like, this is the first time I'm seeing this. They started putting like beach items on there. It was like a little sticky of a lady in like a bikini. And then one had like a little sand and one had a little wave. And all of a sudden, the other neighbor comes with a sunflower reef. I didn't know you could do that. Then it moved to pots. One neighbor had one pot outside. Then another neighbor got a pot. Now it's like a whole walkway is filled with pots. Where it's like four pots on this side, four pots on that side. It's looking like Jumanji out there with all the trees growing and all of this. What do you have in front of yours? I don't have anything. Yours is just the cricket doormat.

01:56:27 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 3:

Is that you?

01:56:27 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 1:

I don't even have a doormat on my head. Come as you are. We got to figure something out for you then. Then we all have to help.

01:56:33 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so this is what I love doing. I will come and decorate your entrance for you.

01:56:38 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 1:

My whole front door? Yeah. Seriously, like in Christmas time too, we should get the people that do the decorations here at the radio station. Oh, Pink Pro. Pink Pro. They're the best, Jeremy and Chen. Have them decorate your door. Like make it look like a package with wrapping paper and stuff on it. Low key. I like that. See, then everybody's going to know where I live at though. My favorite is those neighborhoods, not that are, like, the Christmas neighborhoods, but the neighborhoods, like you say, that are the competitive neighborhoods. Like, I like that. Like, now it's turned into Halloween where everybody's got those skeletons. Everybody's, you know, got stuff.

01:57:11 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I, I feel like this is me. Is it? And I haven't even realized it until, well, I like to have the cutest porch. And you said Halloween, and I always try to be, like, one of the favorite Halloween houses for trick-or-treating. So I do the big balloon arch that the kids can take pictures under every year on my porch and stuff like that.

01:57:29 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 2:

Is there a neighbor in the neighborhood that you feel like competes with you?

01:57:32 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 3:

I mean, there are some neighbors in the neighborhood that really, really do it up. Yeah. Like Pinterest where they do it up.

01:57:39 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 1:

And are there any neighbors?

01:57:40 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 3:

And inside, I'm like, I got to get there.

01:57:43 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 1:

Are there any tacky neighbors, Shannon? Oh, yeah. We have one.

01:57:47 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

We have one house in our neighborhood. And if you listen, I'm sorry, because I'm sure you're I don't know. I don't want to offend you, but you're tacky. Well, her entire house is pink and purple. And any time there is an opportunity to do lights, so Halloween, Valentine's Day, Christmas, she does hot pink lights. All of her lawn decorations, and she's got a lot of them, are pink. She has like a pink theme for her house, but the shutters are purple.

01:58:11 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 2:

See, you got to have a theme, bro. I don't like going past the houses where it literally looked like Halloween threw up in your front lawn. Like, it's no consistency. Well, this is year-round. Just throwing it everywhere.

01:58:21 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 3:

Everywhere? Well, her house is painted pink.

01:58:23 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. Man, a pink house, by the way.

01:58:26 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 2:

What are we doing?

01:58:27 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 1:

That's like, I don't know. She got cats?

01:58:29 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 3:

That's a cat lady thing. I don't know. I don't know who lives there.

01:58:32 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 1:

There used to be a house that was off of Pine Lake, and it looked like the Smurfs' house. It literally looked like it had the roof that looked like the Smurfs' house. Remember the Smurfs' house where it looks like a mushroom, you know? Okay, okay. And it was blue like the Smurfs' house, had a white roof and stuff. and it was one of those houses the kid luke used to love driving by that house to look at it and all i kept thinking to myself was can you imagine the neighbor you're the neighbor and you have to look at that all the time no offense to that person whose house that is they're the pink house but um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 you know there are companies now that will come out

01:59:12 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 3:

and do this for you i mean i'm sure people pay a lot of money to have like they'll come out and do your flower pots on your porch and they make them these beautiful over-the-top things or they'll come out and put all the pumpkins cascading down your front steps for you. Some people get real cray cray.

01:59:30 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 1:

Do they do other than just Christmas?

01:59:32 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, Pink Pro does holiday lights and I use them. I truly love them, but they do other things, but they do like window cleaning and gutter cleaning.

01:59:40 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 1:

They don't do like porch pots. What's up? How you doing, Darren?

01:59:44 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, guys? Morning. Morning. Have you guys heard of Tilson Street?

01:59:48 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Tilson Street's the deal at Christmastime. Yeah. I mean, we're at Halloween. That's a great place. What is that?

01:59:56 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 4:

I've never been.

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Tilson Street. It's an agnomio. It's a...

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 7:

It's basically the Halloween headquarters for homes.

02:00:03 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. And now the other streets, like, down, like, the next few blocks are even starting to compete with them, too, and trying to get all that stuff up and make it look like that whole block pretty soon is going to be all Halloween central.

02:00:15 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 7:

I mean, you know it if you live on Tilson Street that that's exactly what you got to do. The problem is if you, like, moved in that neighborhood without realizing it, that you got people nonstop in front of your house. Like, I hate when I have slow cars that are driving down the street looking for the address to try to drop off a DoorDash because I feel like they're spying on me, you know, or casing the house.

02:00:40 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 8:

And honestly, I would love to live down like Tilson just to do that. Like, I've always wanted to, always went to it every year. And if I could, I totally would.

02:00:50 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, totally would be awesome. Thanks, Darren. Appreciate it. What's up, Katie? Hi.

02:00:54 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 9:

Hi.

02:00:55 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 7:

What's happening?

02:00:56 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 9:

Hi, how are you?

02:00:57 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 7:

Good. What's going on?

02:00:59 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 9:

I have a neighbor, and every, like, month or two, they paint their house a different shade of purple. Oh, my God. Every month? Yes. I drove past it, like, almost every other month, and it's a different shade of purple, their shed, their roof, everything. That's expensive and very time-consuming.

02:01:17 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that seems a little much, doesn't it?

02:01:18 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 6:

Go ahead, man.

02:01:19 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 9:

Yes.

02:01:20 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 7:

Wow. That's amazing. Every other month, they're painting their house. If those people are listening, can you tell me who your painter is? because I just need to paint mine, like, once every 10 years. My favorite text of the entire hour has been, can we have more Yacht Rock? Pay your bills.

02:01:41 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 5:

You're damn right.

02:01:42 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 9:

Need your bills paid?

I'm Mungish Hatikular, and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive. This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones, and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad science. I can make a brain for you, and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain, as opposed to his brain. Here are some hard truths.

I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration.

02:05:30 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 6:

Hi, so I turned 30 this year, and if my boyfriend doesn't propose to me by the end of the year, I'm breaking up with him.

02:05:37 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that just seems pretty cut and dry. Turning 30 this year, and if boyfriend will not propose by the end of the year, he's got an ultimatum. She's breaking up with him. How long, her name is Angie. Hi, Angie. Hey. How long have you guys been together?

02:05:57 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 5:

Like four years.

02:05:58 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's a good amount of time. did you tell him this or is this just something that you know for yourself that if he doesn't do this like does he have an ultimatum on his hands or is this just your time frame yeah no he knows

02:06:13 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 4:

i've been very clear oh wow so you guys have talked about getting engaged in the in you know

02:06:18 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 5:

over the past couple of years or months yeah i mean like we talk about marriage um he said that he wanted to propose for like a year now and i'm just like i'm tired of no accent you know have you gone ring shopping well no but i'm not doing that like he needs to do that

02:06:37 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 1:

oh so you don't want to say so on what your ring is going to be you you're going to let him go do it but you don't even know because i would think that nowadays guys pretty much are going to bring their girl with just to at least get an idea yeah so he's not he's not even thinking about this

02:06:52 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so he knows.

02:06:54 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Is this like, are you happy in a relationship? Is this the only deal breaker for you?

02:07:01 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm very happy, but this turns me off. You know, like if you want something, get it, you know?

02:07:08 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 4:

I think your situation is a little different because you guys have talked about getting engaged. So it's definitely a thought. It's not like he's not interested in getting married or committing that way. Whereas I know we've talked to couples before who that's not even a topic of conversation. I just wonder why if he's been saying for a year now that he wants to and it hasn't happened, what's the...

02:07:33 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 1:

I have a different thought, and I'm going to tell you my thought when it comes to am I the a-hole. I think if you were to have said to us, I want to get married by the end of the year or get engaged to by the end of the year, and if I don't get engaged to by the end of the year, then I'm going to break up. If you would have said when I asked the question, does he know that? No, he doesn't know that, but that's just in my head. I wouldn't say you're an a-hole. I think the fact that you told him that he has to do it is an ultimatum. And I think that no matter you guys have been together for four years or one year, I think the problem with that is you just took away the sincerity or the him wanting to do it. Now you made it. You need to do it.

02:08:21 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 4:

I actually agree with you. And the thing that I hate about ultimatums that have been vocalized is that now if I were you, Angie, I would get a little nervous that he's doing it because he feels like he has to, not because he actually wants to.

02:08:36 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 1:

And you know what else, Shannon? I think that it will come up one time or two or four or 28 in their relationship.

02:08:43 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's something to be resentful over.

02:08:44 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:08:45 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you want the relationship to progress. naturally. You don't want to force somebody into becoming somebody that they're not. That's a whole other scene of progress. That being said,

02:08:56 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 4:

if I've been in a relationship for four years and we've talked about getting engaged and we've looked at rings on Pinterest or whatever, I'm also going, why hasn't he in the back of my head? As a woman, I know how I would feel about that and I'd be going, why not yet?

02:09:12 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 1:

Gil, what's up? Am I the a-hole? Is Angie in a-hole?

02:09:16 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Morning, Mojo on the team. Partial. partially the a-hole because marriage is about compromise so it's not going to be the way you want it to be all the time and you have to grow and understand that and just know that if she gives him an ultimatum shannon kind of stole my thunder if she gives him the ultimatum she's going to make him do it before he is totally totally ready and it's going to be downhill from that point so i think she should exercise a little bit more patience with him communicate with him to let him know how important it is and then go with him for the rings because guys you got to spell it out for him so don't say i showed you a ring on pinterest you make it happen buddy

02:10:00 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, honey, let's go ring shopping and then show him what you want. So sometimes you have to lead us, but still, you know, give us direction, and then we'll take it from there. I agree with you, Gil. You get that ring on your finger physically, and he sees it, and you light up. Now the wheels are turning. The ball is going to be rolling the way you want it to be.

02:10:21 - 02:10:42 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you on the case of bring her in to go look at the rings. Don't just show a picture because there will be some other complaint that will come up about the ring, but I don't like the idea that she told him that by the end of the year he's got to do this thing. I just think that he's going to feel like he was forced into it. Amanda, what's up?

02:10:43 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning. I think she is not the a-hole because if you've already –

02:10:49 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 4:

We're not worried about him being the a-hole. Is she the a-hole?

02:10:52 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 1:

No, she's not. No, she's not. But if you already set up like a conversation with your person and you said, this is how long I'm willing to be in a relationship before I see it moving forward or before we take the steps, then that's your own boundary. Why you just need to know the relationship is going somewhere. It's not weird to string someone along by saying, oh, I want to, but I, you know, what do you think ahead of time?

02:11:17 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 4:

What do you think about her telling him, though, that that's what she's she she wants him to do?

02:11:24 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, I that's what I told my husband. I had a set time frame in mind, and if it didn't happen and we weren't pursuing each other or going further in our relationship, then what were we doing?

02:11:35 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 4:

So you told him he had to do this, and does he ever use that against you in any kind of court of law?

02:11:43 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 1:

No, not at all. No, no, no. Because I had a time frame that I wanted to spend with my partner before we took steps into furthering our relationship, and that was just something that I had in mind and he had known from the beginning. How long have you guys been together, Amanda? Eight years.

02:12:00 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And when did you give him the ultimatum, and what was it?

02:12:04 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't like an ultimatum. It was more of like a this is my time frame that I think is acceptable, and it started to come up on that time frame of I don't want to waste more time if it's not going to go anywhere. And I already knew I wanted marriage, and he knew, and we both wanted the same thing. It just wasn't happening.

02:12:21 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 4:

And I think that there's ways to get that from them without giving, like, the actual date. Like, I think you know who are the marrying type, and you know who aren't. And if the guy's not an acting type of guy, if he's an inaction kind of guy, do you really want to marry that? Like, honestly? I agree. I don't know if you want to be in that relationship. What's up, Mike? How you doing? Morning. How you guys doing? Good. Do you think she's an a-hole?

02:12:48 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Why do you say that? well being together for four years and you're gonna leave someone because maybe they're not ready to be in that type of relationship so the basically give them an ultimatum after four years

02:13:09 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 4:

and just throw all that away is to me completely wrong see i don't i don't think that that what's that's what makes her an a-hole i don't think that the four-year part in her throwing away the relationship because she has a say in this too i think the a-hole part in her is how she

02:13:25 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 2:

presented it to him absolutely and at the end of the day it's just a piece of paper too so well i

02:13:31 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

disagree with that but i mean it's it also some people think a covenant and you know but i i but mike i'm gonna tell you mike are you a single guy no i'm married as well and your wife how long did

02:13:46 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 5:

How did you date before you guys got engaged?

02:13:50 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 2:

We were together about, I don't know, about the same time, four or five years.

02:13:54 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 4:

Do you think your wife's going to be happy when she finds out that you say it's just a piece of paper?

02:13:59 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I've told her. And plus, she don't listen to the radio, but I've told her many, many times.

02:14:04 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 3:

I'll just be careful throwing away a perfect person because they don't fit your marriage to them all.

02:14:08 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

I think, though, that this, though, sometimes calls out the people who are the imperfect people, too. Like, I think when it comes to.

02:14:15 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Who's to decide what's perfect? So the only thing that will make me perfect is if I say I'm going to marry you.

02:14:20 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 4:

No, but I think that it's what makes her also happy, too. Like, there are some people that don't ever want to get married, and God bless them. You know what I mean? Like, that's their thing. But then there are others that that's not what they see their story being. And I think that those that don't see themselves getting married, they should fit the same story. For sure.

02:14:42 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 3:

I just want to say, if you already have a perfect love story and the only thing that isn't perfect is that part, then you could find that part with someone else. But everything else won't be perfect.

02:14:52 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And listen, I agree 100%. And this is one of those make or break type situations. This is either going to be a fantastic thing for her. this year but even now since she already said it i'm like yeah she's got her that is special

02:15:05 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 1:

bruce what's up hey what's going on i just wanted to say i think she the a-hole i want to say she the a-hole but since that's the category i think that because a lot of people throw away their relationship and think they're about to get something new out there but guess what the new person that you think you want do they want to marry you do they think you uh marriage material but you're better off staying with what you got before you out here end up with nothing and then be having two hands empty, you know?

02:15:30 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it amazing all these guys that are calling up? This is unbelievable. I'm out of a relationship.

02:15:34 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 1:

He said a bird in the hand better than two in the bush.

02:15:37 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 3:

That's kind of what he said. What's up, Tim? Hi. Another guy.

02:15:42 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, I just wanted to comment. I figure this is going to be drawn out until the last day of this year. I would hope. I hope he takes her right to New Year's Eve. If you don't propose, it's going to be December 30th or December 30th.

02:15:57 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 3:

Man, that's home. That would be the greatest moment.

02:16:03 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 2:

02:16:31 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, online.

02:16:33 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 1:

Mojointhemorning.com.

02:16:34 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. So we're getting some things done around the house, trying to fix up a little bit. You know, it's summertime and stuff. And, you know, when you do things around your house, it is a complete waste of money, right? Just an absolute waste of money.

02:16:48 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Why is everything so expensive?

02:16:49 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 3:

I wish I could sell my house and rent. I would love to just be in an apartment. It just sounds like a dream to me again just because of everything breaks and stuff. But so we're getting some landscaping stuff done, things that we haven't done since we moved in the house. And we've been in our house since Luke was a baby. So we're having – and this is actually kind of a cool thing. We have these people doing some landscaping for us, and the crew is all women.

02:17:16 - 02:17:16 | Unknown:

Oh, really?

02:17:17 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 3:

It's the first time I've ever had that before.

02:17:19 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 4:

Is it like a women-owned business where this is the thing, or it just so happens it's all women?

02:17:23 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

No, it's actually a guy that owns the business, but it's all women that do it, but they're all part of it. Yeah. It's actually, honestly, I'll be quite honest with you, it's an amazing thing. Except for when I tell this story, it's going to make people laugh thinking that women shouldn't be doing this. Uh-oh. Okay. All right? Tread lightly. I'm going to be very careful on this whole deal.

02:17:44 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:17:45 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 3:

So we're getting work done around our house, like clean up stuff. And then we're taking some stuff out, plants out. And then we're putting some new ones in just because over time, weather has kind of destroyed them. Snow and things like that has destroyed some of these bushes and stuff. So long story short, the woman who's the head of the crew, the one that's the foreman of the crew or forewoman of the crew. She sends me a text message to show me the progress that was made because I wasn't home. And the text message came to me. And the first picture was this amazing looking picture of what everything looked like. I was like, oh, my God, this looks amazing. And then two or three more pictures come my way. And this is where the funny part comes. She writes down, I cut a little shape into those plants so that they look better. I think they look great. And so I write her a text back because of these other couple of pictures come in. I go, looks great, but these pics are all of my neighbor's.

02:18:49 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 1:

No, bro. Shut up. No, don't say that. Don't say that.

02:18:53 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

She goes, oh, my God, I thought that was yours. Sorry.

02:18:56 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 4:

Shut up. All the work they did was at your neighbor's house.

02:18:59 - 02:19:16 | Speaker 3:

And she's got the female emoji with her hand over her head. And I said, that's okay. The neighbor in the one house hates trimming, though. So she might get a little mad. I'll just deal with that. The other neighbor, I think, is going to love what you did for them.

02:19:16 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I wish you were my neighbor. Right.

02:19:20 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 1:

They got a free job out of yours. How do you get the wrong house?

02:19:25 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 3:

I think that what happens is, you know, it's like, you know how in the Midwest, you don't know whose house is whose house? Like, you don't know whose, you can't tell, like, the property lines.

02:19:34 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

Your neighborhood's funky, too, because where's your address? Is it on your house or is it on your...

02:19:39 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 3:

It's on the house. It's on the outside of the house. I'm trying to think.

02:19:42 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 4:

So sometimes those are hard to see. Do you know what I mean?

02:19:45 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 3:

But it's also on the mailbox, too.

02:19:46 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 4:

And your mailbox is out front.

02:19:47 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

It's right out in front.

02:19:48 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so they just genuinely made it. But Shannon jumped out. Oh, poor thing.

02:19:51 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

But Shannon, she did get most of mine. Like, she got it done. But the funny thing is, though, is you're exactly right. Like, if this was mine, I would totally think that that would be...

02:20:00 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 7:

oh my god this is the greatest i've come to my neighborhood yeah but i'm i'm waiting for the one neighbor and i apologize to uh to them that's hilarious but i'm hoping that she doesn't get mad but it looks nice it kind of looks right it's fun i'm surprised that hasn't happened to me that

02:20:14 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 3:

happens to me with deliveries and stuff because my address doesn't make sense yeah where my front door is not on the street where my address is i don't know why it is that way but because i live on a corner, but my front door is on the street. It's a totally different street. I don't know why they did it that way.

02:20:32 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 7:

I kid. I kid. I kid when I talk about that it's a bunch of women doing the thing. What a great story. Chelsea was so mad at me when I made that joke. Did your neighbor

02:20:45 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 3:

say anything to you? The neighbor that she did nicely?

02:20:47 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 7:

No, I haven't had any correspondence. I'm hoping that they're away for a summer vacation or something.

02:20:53 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, you hear stories about this where people

02:20:55 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 7:

like are getting a new roof oh my god and they do has that ever happened they're wrong they start taking shingles off the wrong house dave what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hey i just wanted

02:21:07 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 6:

to make a comment i had a neighbor that had his house painted and when he came home from work he asked who did the job and i told him what company did it and they painted the wrong house no no they did not yes they did that was hilarious he left it but how much wasn't uh real happy how much

02:21:28 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 7:

painting did they do and how drastic of a change was it for him it was it was a little lighter he

02:21:34 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 6:

had a light blue house and now it was like a light gray oh my god it was uh it was all right but it was just funny he came home and wanted to know who painted his house that that to me i'm

02:21:47 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 7:

not going to lie to you that to me would be a dream come true no matter if you painted my house pink i would be like oh god i don't have to pay for it what's up paul how you doing

02:21:56 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 5:

hey good morning so i used to fertilize for a different company and every time i would pull up to a wrong house the customer would sit and stare out their window and i'd be like why is this guy staring at me and then i'd finish the application here they come out hey buddy i think you're at the wrong house thanks for the free up wow they let it happen honestly i'd probably do what's worse what's worse is that job was salary so anytime i did that that would just come out of my paycheck oh okay that part stinks you know that's like that's like getting a door dash

02:22:32 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 7:

delivered to your house and it's the wrong address i grab that thing as fast as i can and start chowing on it uh what's up michelle how you doing good how are you oh this is i'm Great. This is a big one. Michelle, what happened?

02:22:46 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 4:

I owned a roofing company with my husband, and we got a phone call saying my neighbor's roof got done, but mine didn't. And, yeah, their roofing company's crew went and did the wrong house. So we had to eat that, which is not cheap, and redo the neighbor's house.

02:23:07 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God, Michelle. That's crazy. That's unbelievable.

02:23:11 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 4:

But the kicker is, the people were home, and they came out, said hi to our crew, gave them waters and stuff, and let it happen. They never call.

02:23:24 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 7:

That's awesome. Oh, my God. Thank you. Oh, that's funny. Michelle, this is funny. Listen to this. I got Mickey on the phone with a similar story, but what happened? Mickey, hi.

02:23:34 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. I called for an estimate for a roof replacement, and I had gone out to do some errands. They were going to leave the estimate in my mailbox. I come home to find all these guys on my roof. It's gone. They've torn it off. They didn't do an estimate? They just ripped your roof off?

02:23:53 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 7:

That's straight to work.

02:23:55 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 2:

The owner had confused the address with another one, and it was gone. Oh, my God. And I went, what are you doing?

02:24:06 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 3:

Did you get a free roof?

02:24:08 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, I could have, but I did pay for some of it.

02:24:11 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:24:12 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 2:

My husband didn't want me to, but I said I can't not give them some money.

02:24:16 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 1:

Just give them waters. That's the going on these days. Mojo's summer of cars, cash, and gas is driven by Gordon Chevrolet in Garden City. Your chance to win happens in minutes on Mojo in the Morning. Cheat and you'll get caught. It's the War of the Roses in minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:25:01 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:25:03 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 3:

All right, so while we're grabbing the 95th caller to win a $50 gas card from our friends over at Green Flame Tequila to Kroger and qualify for a brand-new car in cash, I want to bring up this in the beginning of the dirty, but yesterday you were talking about your kids being obsessed with La Boo Boo and an undisclosed, I cannot say who it was, he said, to be anonymous, An undisclosed friend of the show contacted us and said he can get his hands on La Foo Foo's. They're La Boo Boo knockoffs. And straight from China, everybody. It's from the same place. Asbestos filled. Well, let me tell you this. These things were a hit last night. I posted a video of the LeFouFous up on our social media, and people were going crazy. I couldn't believe how many people were wanting one of these fake LeFouFous.

02:26:06 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, it might be like the grandmas who think that these are the real things. No.

02:26:09 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 3:

These are giant, though. No. Look at these.

02:26:12 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 4:

These are like stuffed animals, basically.

02:26:13 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 3:

Literally, Shannon. Look at the people. They're like young dudes. There's a couple here. Let's see here. little dare got excited about this one here.

02:26:26 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm dying because yesterday.

02:26:28 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

Brittany got excited about this. Look at that. That ain't a mom there.

02:26:32 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 4:

That's a young. I'm in the car with the kids and Mojo texts me and he's like, or you call me and you're like, hey, I got some little boo-boos for the kids. Well, they hear this and they're like, going crazy. He sends me a photo and he's like, look, tell them to pick which one they want. Did you know that these were not real? Oh, I did. No, I didn't. Oh, okay.

02:26:52 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 3:

No, he told me that they weren't. Oh, okay, because Smith's like,

02:26:55 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 4:

tell Mojo he got scammed.

02:26:57 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 3:

No, he's, he, uh, the guy who, the guy who... This one's all lopsided.

02:27:01 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 4:

This one has strings sticking up.

02:27:03 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 3:

So, have you seen what the real ones look like? They're small, right? Yeah, they're teeny. They're smaller, but I'm going to tell you something. They ain't the cutest little things like this. They're not cute. They're ugly. And they're as awkward as these things look. These things are just bigger.

02:27:16 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 4:

These are actually cuter.

02:27:19 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:27:19 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 4:

The LaFooFoo's are cuter.

02:27:21 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 3:

And I'm under the belief.

02:27:22 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 4:

The LaBussie's are cuter. The LaBussie's.

02:27:24 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 3:

As the listener said yesterday, I'm under the belief that this LaBooBoo thing is honestly just a bougie thing for like the Kardashians, you know? And so it's one of those ones where it's like, if you're somebody that's getting caught up in this thing, save your money. It's a status symbol. It's a waste.

02:27:40 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 4:

You part of the in crowd. Well, I asked Lucy, I go, how do you, obviously these ones are fake. I go, how do you know that there are knockoff ones? And she's like, Mom, you take a blacklight and you have to do the blacklight under their left paw or something. I'm like, who has a blacklight?

02:27:57 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 3:

What's trending in this besides La Boo Boo's?

02:27:59 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 4:

So, some unreleased Beyonce music was stolen from a car in Atlanta this week. Thieves broke into Beyonce's choreographer's car and grabbed flash drives that were filled with songs.

02:28:14 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 2:

Y'all have gone here how much I used to dream of being on the stage. Somebody just stole X3. Seriously? Officers using Apple's location services to track the stolen electronics, and police now say an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect whose name has not been revealed. it's not the first time Beyonce's music has ended up in the wrong hands three years ago the Renaissance album was leaked two days before it was set to be released the singer later thanking fans who waited until release day to listen and it's not just Beyonce in January a woman was sentenced for hacking cloud storage to steal and sell unreleased music by artists including Shawn Mendes and Coldplay.

02:29:37 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 1:

Always in search of the verse that I haven't spit yet. Will this step just be another misstep?

02:29:42 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 2:

And in March, a former studio engineer for Eminem was charged with stealing the rapper's unreleased music, more than 25 songs, and selling them online.

02:29:52 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 4:

First off, if you steal and then sell, you're an idiot. You're going to get caught. And second, this was not just songs that were stolen from.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 1:

Beyonce tour footage set lists also on those flash drives as well it's interesting that why

02:30:04 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 5:

is the choreographer in the possession stuff I don't know all this stuff and he probably to dance

02:30:09 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 4:

to it typically I feel like when Beyonce drops something well not all the time but sometimes she'll drop a video for every single song yeah so she probably was headed in that direction I'm assuming if the choreographer has all of the the songs to it and probably already working on dance

02:30:27 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 5:

moves. It's wild that Beyonce's tour is over now, too. That's wild. That was the last show? No, she got Vegas and that's it. That's amazing. It was a short tour. A lot

02:30:35 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 1:

of money being made, too. Sydney Sweeney's lingerie, she is selling it. It's not hers, per se, in terms of, like, panties and bras she's worn herself. It's not that, but it is her line. She is set to launch her own lingerie line very soon, and guess who is her biggest investor? She is being backed by the guy whose wedding she just went to in Italy, jeff bezos this has been a huge project for her it's something she's been working on for the last year so for everybody who was like why was sydney sweeney at jeff bezos's wedding now we know he's her boss yeah interesting friendship zach bryan's ex brianna chicken fry recently shared some screenshots of text messages from his team outlining this nda offer we've been hearing about for the past couple of months according to the leaked text the deal included two options $10 million or $3 million plus a Massachusetts home that Zach had purchased for seven and a half million bucks. In exchange, Brianna would have to promise to not speak about Zach or his quote unquote non-public cheating, guarantee that specific recordings from specific incidents like where Zach was yelling at friends never sees the light of day. And also she would have to publicly defend Zach if questioned by the media or fans. She claimed she turned it down. She called it blood money, and she is still vowing to speak out about her alleged emotional abuse. By the way, he has a new girlfriend who looks to me just like Brianna Chicken Friday. Wow. Just like her. Tight. And lastly, former UFC champion Conor McGregor. He was on the 5 at 6.55 yesterday. He's in the 9.30 dirty today. He was spotted kissing a mystery woman on a Florida beach over the weekend. That was not his fiance. Oh, boy. Because he is engaged to a woman named Dee Devlin. Um, in addition to that story, Azalea Banks is still talking about how Connor has been sending her unsolicited nude photos in her DMs since 2016. She is now posting some of the images and, uh, alleging that he threatened her for speaking out about it. And by the way, going back to him kissing a mystery woman over the weekend, his fiance, it was his birthday yesterday, I think. Yeah. And his fiance, like, gave him this beautiful birthday post. All these loving messages and photos. So, I guess she wasn't too mad about him kissing another woman.

02:33:52 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

02:33:53 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 5:

Perfect. Real quick, Misfit Victor just sent me this. He said he ordered these from China. These are the more knockoff versions of the LeBuboos, and they say LeBuboos.

02:34:05 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those are good ones.

02:34:06 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 5:

They say LeBuboos on there. One of them came with a missing eye, he said.

02:34:09 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, never mind. I see.

02:34:10 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 5:

He said one of them. And it looks like it's got a missing eye. Oh, no, I guess that's the smile on them. I thought it looks like a missing eye and a scar on them.

02:34:17 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 4:

It's just rarer. It's a more rare labubu with a missing eye.

02:34:21 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 5:

It's more limited. Don't you want to know what Victor's doing with these? We've got to figure this out. Before the end of the show, before the end of the show, I want to get him on and we'll talk about why Victor's ordering labubus. All right. War of the Roses. War of the Roses. If you ever are worried that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500. We'll get you on the War of the Roses.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Like, I saw this.

02:35:00 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 2:

number show up on carplay oh like his phone like his messages message or like who he's called

02:35:07 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 4:

recently yeah we were driving um and a number popped up and he like swiped up on it and like

02:35:16 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 1:

i saw it later and like i memorized who did you ask who it was huh did you ask him who it was Yeah, I was like, who's that?

02:35:28 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 2:

What did he say?

02:35:30 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 4:

He was just really dismissive with me and kind of wouldn't answer me.

02:35:36 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 2:

All right, you are going to find out whether or not he's cheating because we got that number. You took the number from the car play?

02:35:47 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 4:

I just memorized it. I'm impressed, by the way. That is pretty good, by the way. That is a woman that does not trust. Yes.

02:35:53 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to see what he sounds like when we call that number and his number at the same time and see how they sound talking to each other, okay?

02:37:15 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 6:

02:38:52 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 2:

that you'll be bringing Adriana along with?

02:38:56 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

02:38:58 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that you'll be bringing Adriana along with you when you go and pick this girl up that you're talking all this stuff to? wait why are we talking about adriana whoever the girl is on the phone do you know that this guy has got a girlfriend her name is adriana and she's actually right now listening to this conversation yeah uh who's this parker this is the mojo in the morning show and your girlfriend and Adriana called this up because she suspected that you were cheating and it doesn't sound like you're a faithful guy.

02:39:47 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 5:

He's not cheating. Yeah, this is wild to me. Your boyfriend is not cheating on you. Like, we just... We were just in the training program together, and we were talking about flying to Miami. Yeah, I heard. For a trip together.

02:40:07 - 02:40:12 | Speaker 6:

You're flying to Miami. Uh-huh. Well, you know, he told me he was visiting his family. This is some bull****.

02:40:12 - 02:40:22 | Speaker 5:

What the hell? So you call him, and you're going to be rude to him like this? Like, this is your thing? This is crazy.

By the way, Parker just hung up the phone. uh whoever this whoever you are this girl that's on the phone right now that guy's girlfriend is listening and heard everything that you just said and you try to play it off like it's not that you guys are messing around with each other well it's not

02:40:42 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 5:

that serious we're not messing around did you know that he had a girlfriend yeah of course but i thought you guys just were not that good for each other honestly like from what he talks says about you like wow i just feel like you know it's not working out maybe if you're gonna freak out what does he say about me what did he say about you i don't know he just said that you guys weren't getting along which like you know he didn't say anything more about it so I just assumed I just like don't want to get involved with all of that way too late

02:41:23 - 02:41:29 | Speaker 2:

way too late I think you're involved that shit pursuit

02:41:29 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 6:

Live.

02:42:10 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 1:

i don't understand how you can deny that anything is going on when you're talking

02:42:32 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 2:

about ripping off each other's clothes right it's pretty clear bro but they're gonna go to a hot place i mean it's going to be hot and humid and all the rest of that stuff or there was this three-way call just a little bit ago where a girlfriend catches her boyfriend with another girl and he was talking to her obviously so much that her number appeared on his phone's apple car play system this is an interesting one and i'd love to ask this question of listeners Are you as nosy as I am? When I get into a person's car, I always look to see what numbers they frequently dial or recently dial. I do this all the time. I'm in Steve Gabbara's car. I'm in his expedition, his Ford Expedition. I'm looking to see who he's calling up, trying to see exactly what Stevie G's up to. What's up, Amanda? Where are the roses? Your comments on this one.

02:43:29 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was going to say that that girl did not sound interested in him at first. Like, she was like, oh, yeah, ha, ha, ha. Like, that's how I sound talking to creepy guys at the bar, if I'm, like, just trying to get them to buy me a drink.

02:43:44 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 1:

I feel like she was talking to somebody else at first. Like, I feel like when we started to merge the numbers, there was somebody else she was talking to. Did you get that? Yeah.

02:43:55 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:43:55 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 3:

But he was, like, talking and, like, kind of flirting with her, and she was just like, oh, my God, you're so crazy. Ha, ha, ha. So I don't know. Maybe he's got money, and she was using him for that or something.

02:44:06 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 2:

My favorite is that you admit that you actually play the creepy guys. You actually mess with those creepy guys.

02:44:12 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 3:

A free drink is a free drink.

02:44:15 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 2:

You know what? At least you're honest, Amanda. That's what we love you for. Thank you for the call.

02:44:19 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

02:44:20 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you. You're welcome. What's going on, Candace?

02:44:22 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 4:

she literally said we have to peel each other's clothes off yes i'm like take accountability if

02:44:31 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 2:

you're a cheater you're a cheater hey question for you on nosiness when you get into a car doesn't make a difference who it is could be your guys could be your friends do you ever look at their you know what we're talking about when we talk about apple car play for those people that don't maybe have it or something it's right down the dashboard it connects to your car and it shows

02:44:49 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

you your phones calls and stuff oh yeah my wife has um apple carplay and i'm totally like i play

02:44:57 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

around with it all the time do you so you look to see

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 3:

who she's calling no i mean i don't look to see who she's calling but yeah i mean if a number pops

02:45:06 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 2:

up i'll be like oh who's that oh yeah yeah yeah i'm nosy though like i i look at it all the time i try to see what's going on i you can't really help but look at it if it's on that screen with messages or calls it's right there look away the other thing too driving yourself crazy the other thing too and and i and i'd love to know from anybody that's ever caught somebody through any kind of a device like that um are you smart enough to be able to memorize the number or write the number down because that was pretty amazing that adriana was able to recall that number and that was the reason why we were able to do that three-way hi duane what's up it's mojo in

02:45:42 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 4:

the morning good morning i don't know why we always blame the the new person when it's the boyfriend or girlfriend the one that's the pos you know the the new person's just being presented with what they're being shown. They don't really know what's going on. But I don't know why people drag other people along. If they're not happy, they should just let them go.

02:46:04 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the thing. He did not seem so concerned with Adriana, with his girlfriend. And it always makes me wonder about the relationship and where that relationship went wrong. Or is this guy just one of those guys that's just looking for as many people as he possibly can in his life, you know? The girl was actually sticking up for him. Like, did you notice that? The girl that we, you know, called in the three-way? I don't even, we didn't catch the name or anything, but she...

02:46:36 - 02:46:39 | Speaker 4:

It was almost like she was trying to hide, it was almost like she was trying to hide the fact for him.

02:46:39 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah.

02:46:40 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 4:

When just 30 seconds prior, she was talking about hopping in the shower.

02:46:45 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:46:46 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That was, but did you notice also, I don't know, Dwayne, if you caught this and Shannon and Kev, did you notice that they're getting together tomorrow? There was that thing that she said, yeah, we're going to see each other tomorrow, which makes me wonder exactly what's going on.

02:47:02 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 4:

And I can't wait for tomorrow. I wish it was today.

02:47:05 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know. I can't wait for tomorrow. I wish it was today. Thanks, Dwayne. I appreciate your call. Texter here at 95500 says that they caught their ex cheating the same way. They looked at past numbers and saw a number popping up on the phone all the time. Another person here said that they look at their co-workers' car plays all the time just to see what they're doing. You don't be nosy, bro. I'm telling you, it shows up on the screen. I wonder if there's a setting on there where you can hide it so people don't see it. I don't know. I don't even know if I have. I don't think I have my contact list added to my car. So I just recently got into a new lease, and when I got into the new lease, I connected my phone to it. And when you connect it, it will say something, would you like to, and you, see, I pressed yes on that because I want all my stuff in there. Do you do it for rental cars too? I have done it for rental cars, but does it stay, wait, does it stay in a rental car?

02:48:05 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so we just had a rental car when we were on vacation and there were two other people's, you can't see anything, but it still shows it in the list. Their Bluetooth was connected? That it shows their car play had been connected, but it's not like I could hit on that random person and like see all their stuff, but it's still there.

02:48:21 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Tina. What's up? It's Mojo in the morning. War of the Roses.

02:48:25 - 02:48:50 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. So you have to follow me on this story. So I was following my boss in her, in a rental car she had in her car because she had some type of issue. She had to get fixed. So we're driving and we're at a light. So because I'm in her main car, her main car picked up Apple Play from her phone in the other car she was driving because we were that close stop at a stoplight together.

02:48:51 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:48:51 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 3:

And it picked up the conversation she was having with a married man that she was having an affair with.

02:48:57 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait, how much did you catch?

02:48:59 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 3:

Talk about, well, I talked, I caught him talking about how he wanted to slip his hand under her shirt for some cheap thrills and talk about being frozen in time. I'm like, oh my God, don't breathe, Tina. Don't breathe. You don't want anybody to know that you can hear this conversation. It was horrible. I didn't know what to do. I was in panicked. I was like, please don't understand that I, this phone number, this phone picked up.

02:49:22 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, and he disappeared probably in her car. So she must've thought, oh God, you heard it. Or did you ever confront her on it?

02:49:28 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 3:

well he was like are you there are you there because then her phone part must have went silent and she didn't respond to him because it was picking up on the apple car play you could have

02:49:38 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 2:

responded if you wanted to you know that that it was connected to your car if you heard it

02:49:42 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 3:

yeah i could have but i was i was panicked i was crazy i was panicked that was crazy and so yeah and we still work together this was a couple of years ago it's just one of those things i have a

02:49:54 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

mental note of that should i ever need to pull it out wow that's amazing back pocket

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, you caught your boyfriend, and Apple's to blame. What happened?

02:50:06 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 4:

So we were at my house on the couch, cuddling, so he had his arm around me. And he got a text from his Apple Watch, and, you know, I'm just a little curious. I mean, we've been together for a little over a year. So I'm like, okay, like I'll just, you know, nothing crazy. I didn't assume anything was going on. And sure enough, he was texting another girl and was cheating.

02:50:27 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow. You know what's funny is we've had a War of the Roses before where the Apple Watch was the reason that we figured it out because you delete things off your phone, but they don't delete off of your Apple Watch. And the guy was dumb. We've had one with the iPad, too. Remember the iPad was left at home and she could see it. We've had a few with Apple, I feel like. What's up, Frances?

02:50:49 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So I've been dating somebody for like nine months. I mean, I'm 99.9% sure that he has never cheated in, you know, he's consistent, he's not a phone person, blah, blah, blah. But we went on a trip together about three or four months in, and on the way home, his ex called on the car play, but that's because she was watching their dog. But when it showed up, it said her name, and it was pink. I don't know. It still bothers me. I mean, right then, I talked to him about it. So, I mean, he said that it was her. He said it. He goes, she usually just texts me. I got to get, and he said his dog's name back tonight, which is true, because they do share that.

02:51:35 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay. But why is it? I wonder why her name's in pink.

02:51:38 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 5:

That's what I don't understand. You can do that. Oh, I know.

02:51:41 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 3:

Unless that's how you. I know. And then he never changed it over, maybe, after the breakup. But this is interesting. So this is something that's recent, and it still bothers you, huh?

02:51:48 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 5:

well i think that's me because i'm insecure but i he doesn't know that because i'm i'm really trying not to be that way in this relationship and i mean i'm like i said i honestly he's a good person and i don't think he would ever cheat on me but i still get anxious about that because they were together for 12 years and there's still communication because of the dog if it goes on

02:52:11 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 3:

longer and you start freaking out more on this you call us back and we'll get you here and we'll try to help you out okay thanks all right francis good luck don't don't let your head go into places that you shouldn't go sometimes sometimes you let your imagination get the best of you and it really freaks you out especially if you're not confident in yourself well yeah that definitely

02:52:32 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 5:

happens to me all the time and i'm working on it let's just say that and if you love each other

02:52:37 - 02:52:45 | Speaker 2:

and this is something that's really bothering you then communicate it to him yeah tell him really be honest and truthful and if he's the guy for you he'll understand your concern and put it at ease

02:52:45 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 3:

Exactly, and if he doesn't and it gets all defensive, then there's something there.

02:52:49 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 5:

He wasn't defensive, and he actually told me it was her when it happened, so I guess that's pretty good.

02:52:55 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 3:

Good. Thanks, Francis, for the call. I appreciate it.

02:52:57 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:52:57 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Online.

02:53:32 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 2:

MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:53:34 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 1:

You're free for the summer, so make waves in the pool and bad decisions at the bonfire. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:53:43 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Ah, this story's good. This is a good story. So I was reading this story about, oh, geez, what just happened to my phone? That's kind of weird. I hate when people do that. I hate when people send me text messages and it's got that effect that they have on there where it makes the text look like it's in show, the show lights, the spotlight. I hate that. Don't do that to me because you know what? When you do it to me, you make me think that my phone just got a bug from me being on too many porn sites or something. Did Lydia do that? No, but she has done that in the past. She's done that in the past and I'm like, uh-oh. And I hate it makes that noise, too, like it's the light turned on. So this story was kind of an interesting one. There's somebody that started a dating site using the Disney. singles only thing. You know how when you go to if you've ever gone to like Disney and I think that Cedar Point does this too where if you go by yourself that you have like a line for single riders only. Okay, yeah. So they're using the single riders thing as the app. So it's basically people who go to Disney by themselves looking to hook up.

02:55:27 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 4:

Like as in dating?

02:55:29 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 3:

In a dating. So an app developer took a TikTok guy's announcement about Disney fans that are looking for love connections, the single riders thing, to make an app that will help you with that. And it's called the Single Riders app. And it's a way for, and they're beta testing it right now. It's a way for you, instead of going to Tinder or Bumble or Hinge, and then looking for people to just use this app as a way to hook up. Do you like this or no? Well, I have a theory that I'd like to bring up. But let me see if there's audio to this guy's thing here. Hold on a second. I think there is. Here you go. Why is my audio not playing?

02:56:16 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 4:

I think this is a really smart idea, by the way, and I do not mean this in a mean way whatsoever. I feel like Disney adults, Disney people, Disney obsessed, are like a very special breed of people, and this is such a good idea for them to meet other just-as-Disney obsessed singles.

02:56:33 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 1:

Anything here yet? So I figured I would. Hi, my name is Joe. I am one of the developers of Single Riders, a Disney adult and other theme park enthusiasts dating app. I am more of an ideas guy. I have a genius coder guy that is going to be doing all the work and has been for a little bit. I just kind of wanted to give you guys an update. We are working on it, and we are going to try to be a little bit more interactive with you guys and try to get some ideas. Is that a sweatshirt? Is that a sweatshirt? Oh, it's Sully. Is he wearing it? From Monsters, Inc. in the comments below. We're really excited.

02:57:13 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 4:

This is not a Disney thing.

02:57:14 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 1:

It's coming along pretty well.

02:57:15 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 4:

So I'm super excited.

02:57:17 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 3:

All right. So I have a theory to this. And my theory is this. I think if you go to Cedar Point or Disney or any of these theme parks by yourself, I think you're weird. I just think it's a weird thing. That's why I actually...

02:57:31 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 4:

You should be able to meet other weird people who like to do those things.

02:57:34 - 02:58:01 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. I think that you guys should be kicked out. Like I think... What? You know how you can't go to Chuck E. Cheese's without bringing a kid with you? Like, they have a rule with that. Like, unless you're coming for, like, your nephew's birthday party or something. You can't just all of a sudden randomly show up there. Like, Kev, you or I, or even Shannon by herself, couldn't just say, hey, we're going to go have lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's by ourselves. They don't have that. They should have that at Disney.

02:58:01 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Chuck E. Cheese would be weird because it truly is just for kids.

02:58:03 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 2:

Disney's for all ages. It's completely different. I don't know. It's not the same thing, bro. Why? And I think if you throw Tinder in the mix, why not? Why not have some fun on the rides and then get a little ride afterwards?

02:58:14 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 3:

Are there any listeners that have ever gone to Cedar Point or to Disney or any of the theme parks and they gone there and then gone on Tinder and found somebody at the actual park? Have you ever done that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I think it's weird. I really do.

02:58:34 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 4:

Has your son ever gone to Disney by himself? Because he's a Disney fanatic.

02:58:37 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't think he has. I think he's always gone with either Chad or Ashley or, more importantly, can I tell you what is kind of embarrassing? And I really think that she's going to eventually just go enough is enough. But Joe's fiancé and him go there all the time.

02:58:53 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 4:

I know.

02:58:53 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 3:

And Alyssa, his fiancé, I think at one point is going to break and say, I can't do this anymore. Because I don't think that she was a huge Disney person when they met. I think he made her a Disney person. They go all the time.

02:59:09 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 4:

Are they going to have a Disney wedding?

02:59:11 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 3:

You know, I actually have asked that question. I've asked that question of, would you guys ever do a Disney wedding? Joe, I think, would go crazy for it. Yeah. I think that might be the straw that broke the Alyssa back.

02:59:21 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 2:

But I feel like there are certain things, and this isn't where the topic is going, but there are certain things that maybe you weren't into, and then you got with someone, and it was their thing, and now you love it. like there are countless of tv shows i'm sure you've watched that maybe chelsea put you on he's like oh what is this like some of my friends i don't know how they watch in love island but they do it because they girls watch it and now they talking about it with their girls so turning

02:59:43 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 3:

the topic of the people that meet at the theme parks you think that that is a common thing for how joe's relationship is where his fiancee now becomes fanatical over something there'll be days

02:59:56 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 2:

There'll be days where she'll be like, come on, Joe, let's go to Disney World. Like, he won't even have to bring it up. Call up Joe and see if you can get him on, Lydia, if you please, because I swear to you, I think it's weird. I don't know. Oh, this is a wild one. Luba, are you there?

03:00:12 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm here. Hey, guys. What up, Luba? Hey, guys. So, funny story. So, at the Greensill Village Halloween event, I was there with my kids, my friends, and, like, one of my buddies, and he was scrolling through the grinder, And there was, like, a bunch of men that were sending him pictures of themselves. They're like, hey, let's meet up in the bathroom at the kids' event.

03:00:33 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. Hold on.

03:00:35 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 4:

That's, like, my favorite event of the year.

03:00:37 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 2:

About a Model T's?

03:00:38 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 4:

Mine, too.

03:00:39 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 2:

There were gay guys picking up guys at Greenfield Village?

03:00:46 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yes. In the bathroom? Smith's not going to the bathroom by himself this year.

03:00:51 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I know what's happening in there now. That's amazing. Uh-uh. That's amazing. So did he go to the bathroom and did he meet him?

03:00:59 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 3:

No, he didn't. He didn't. But he was, like, keeping his actions open, you know, if anyone was hot.

03:01:05 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

03:01:05 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 4:

Grateful Village is, like, sacred to me. Oh, dude. Please do.

03:01:10 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 3:

How dare they defile it, right?

03:01:13 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. See? Well, I'm telling you that this is, hey, this happens at Disney, too. I guarantee you. In Cedar Point, it happens there all the time where people are picking each other up. and then what do they do when they pick them up? What do you want them to do if they're at Disney? If they all of a sudden want to fool around, you don't think that they're going to the, you know, teacups or something? That's right. Grab that Lifesaver. They're going out there and messing around. Oh, what's that?

03:01:41 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 3:

They've just sent me a video of something. Oh.

03:01:44 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

03:01:44 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 3:

I thought it had to do with this.

03:01:47 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 2:

Ask for later. The Joe Show is on with us right now. My son Joe and Ashley and Jed, are you guys there? What up, y'all? Yes, sir. What up? Hey, guys. Real quick. We were talking about this Disney singles app. You guys, I'm sure, talked about it on your show because you talk about everything Disney.

03:02:05 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 1:

Of course. Do you know it? Now remind us. What is it about? You can't talk about it. Joe. I know what it's about.

03:02:12 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so this guy that's coming up with a single riders app where singles that go to Disney can hook up with each other like a Tinder for, you know, Disney. But the reason we're calling you is I was talking about how, Joe, you go to Disney, it seems like, every week with your fiancee, Alyssa. And prior to—

03:02:36 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was there on Saturday.

03:02:38 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 4:

And he just said he might go this weekend.

03:02:39 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

03:02:40 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't blame you, bro.

03:02:41 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

It's unreal, Ashley. Seriously, it is un-freaking-real. Joe, if it make you happy, go as many times as you want.

03:02:49 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the food is good. You get to be outside. It's something to do.

03:02:54 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 2:

Here's what I said to these guys. Prior to you and Alyssa getting together, Alyssa was never a big Disney person.

03:03:04 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Not true. I don't know why that narrative is always said. That's not true.

03:03:08 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 2:

How often do you think that she would go to Disney? She wouldn't because she couldn't afford it. Okay, so she loved Disney, but she only went to the Disney store at the mall. Is that what you're saying, or what would she say?

03:03:22 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, Disney is very, very expensive, and not a lot of people get annual passes. I understand. It just wasn't.

03:03:27 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, everybody loves Disney, but they don't love it enough that they want to go there every single weekend. And so my belief is once you get married, it's all over with. She's never going to go again. She's going to be like, enough.

03:03:38 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm willing to bet very good money that that's not the case.

03:03:42 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you.

03:03:43 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 1:

I think that there will probably be like a year where we don't because we'll hopefully have like a kid and you don't want to take like a newborn. You know what's funny? Actually, I'll still go. I'm going to use that. Guess what?

03:03:56 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

Guess what your mom used to do before we got married. Go to baseball games with me. Go to basketball games with me. Go to sporting events with me. You think your mom really enjoys going to any of that stuff right now?

03:04:11 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but those are not Disney. Disney's so different.

03:04:15 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, once you put the ring on the finger, it's all over with, Joe. It doesn't stop anymore. You know what else stops once you put the ring on the finger?

03:04:24 - 03:04:26 | Speaker 1:

Mouth hugs. Exactly.

03:04:26 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Hey, not if you're into Greenfield Village. Wait, yeah, we just found out. Hi.

03:04:33 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 3:

Seriously, I'm so upset about that call.

03:04:35 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 2:

We just had a caller. We were talking about singles picking people up at amusement parks. And a girl called us up, a woman called us up, Luba, and said that her, was it her gay brother or something like that?

03:04:45 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:04:46 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 2:

Was getting hit up on Grindr at Greenfield Village.

03:04:48 - 03:04:52 | Speaker 3:

And everybody's asking him to meet him in the bathrooms. Yeah.

03:04:52 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Giving out handies by the Model T's. Actually, could you imagine having sex on the chair?

03:05:00 - 03:05:02 | Speaker 4:

that Abe Lincoln was sitting on when he got assassinated?

03:05:02 - 03:05:03 | Speaker 2:

No. Nice.

03:05:03 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up? There we go.

03:05:04 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 2:

End shot.

03:05:06 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 4:

That's the music. What's up, Brendan? Brendan, what did you want to say?

03:05:14 - 03:05:46 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Brendan? I used to work for Disney, actually, and some of the cast members used to, like, hook up behind stage and, like, underneath, like, attractions and rides and stuff, like, all the time. It was a very big thing. Would they fully come out of the costumes, or did they keep half of it on? I never was around to find out, to be honest with you. I always wondered if one of the mascots were doing it, but I know, like, underneath the Yeti ride in Animal Kingdom was a hot spot. That's why I'd be smelling like this. There's a lot of hot spots.

03:05:48 - 03:05:56 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome, Brendan. Brendan, thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Hold on. Logan, what's up, Logan? You're on with the Mojo in the Morning Show and the Joe Show.

03:05:57 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was calling, referring back to the caller talking about people hooking up in the bathrooms at Disney. It's a real thing in the gay community. It's called cruising. And one of the biggest places that it'll ever happen is Home Depot, if you believe that.

03:06:11 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

03:06:11 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Really? Home Depot? Wow. If you're ever in the stall and somebody's tapping their feet, that means they want to hook up with you.

03:06:22 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 4:

Wait, hold on a second. We've got one of my favorite gays on the phone with us right now, Ashley.

03:06:27 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 3:

That's got to be the gay guys. The lesbians, we're just in there trying to grab stuff to build. We're just in there trying to grab stuff to build.

03:06:34 - 03:07:19 | Speaker 4:

Home Depot for a lesbian is like Disney World. What are you talking about? He's a bad girl. He's grabbing our plywood. Ashley, come on. Ashley's now at Home Depot. She's just trying to get a drill. All right. My favorite with Ashley is, by the way, Ashley moved off the Mojo in the Morning Show and moved down to Tampa. She's on the Joe Show. This woman's got a new girl every week, it seems like. Hey, cool out, cool out, cool out. Are you hanging out at the Home Depot? It's the one, it's the one, it's the one. Oh, my God. He said, are you hanging out at Home Depot? Actually, Ashley's not Home Depot. She's Lowe's. She's classier. She's way classier

03:07:19 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Yes, have some class

03:07:22 - 03:07:24 | Speaker 4:

Alright, I love you guys, I love you so much

03:07:24 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait I'm getting a call from a guy in Salt Lake City Should I answer it?

03:07:31 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 4:

I'll talk to you later That's going to get me in trouble I love you That's an inside radio thing Oh my god Alright, real quick Stevie G, Steve Gabara Otherwise, aka Steve Gabar, a.k.a. Stevie G, in studio with us from Zot Ford and Holly.

03:07:50 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 5:

A lot of controversy surrounding that whole topic. I don't know what happened.

03:07:53 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Let me just say this to you, Steve. I want you to know. I think that you should have StevieG.com. What do you think?

03:08:00 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 5:

I mean, now someone just snatched it up, but it's a good idea.

03:08:03 - 03:08:13 | Speaker 4:

Remember when the first thing you'd do is you'd go on. Go Daddy. Go Daddy. Get your websites and stuff. You're going to be recording commercials with this guy for Zot Ford? Yeah. What a time.

03:08:13 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to start driving a Zat Ford vehicle?

03:08:16 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 5:

That's the plan. When is that? When does he get his Mustang? I have the car, and now we've just got to sit down and get him rolling, because we're going to do a little fun. We're going to have a little social media fun. That's so exciting, Kev.

03:08:25 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if you want him driving your car.

03:08:27 - 03:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Have you seen the inside of his car?

03:08:29 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 5:

What's that?

03:08:29 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 2:

I've seen the inside of his car. Let him talk. First off, do you know that Shannon lets her kids bathe in swimming pools? You know that?

03:08:37 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 5:

This morning, I was impressed. I agree with you. It's not what I expected her to say. No, it's amazing.

03:08:43 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Like, I always thought she was, like, a great mom and stuff.

03:08:45 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 5:

She had three baths a day. It's amazing.

03:08:48 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're done with the show for today. Have a great one. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:08:58 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning.

03:09:01 - 03:09:27 | Speaker 1:
