00:02:42 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 7:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:44 - 00:02:46 | Speaker 8:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

00:02:46 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hat. Here we go, go, go. it's mojo in the morning show has anybody ever slept text like we're in the middle of the night they were sleeping and they didn't realize until they looked at their phone the next morning

00:03:05 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 4:

that they were texting so what's going on shannon so the i have been having so much trouble sleeping lately and i think i'm i'm in a phase of just my anxiety is kind of out of control um and so I wake up constantly throughout the night so the night before last Wes was like why don't you take a melatonin and I because as soon as I laid down I'm like it this I already know I can feel my heart racing my mind was going a thousand miles in a minute and he's like take a melatonin and that way at least you'll sleep until your alarm at 3 45 I'm like okay so I did and when I woke up yesterday morning before I came into the studio he was like how did you sleep did you sleep through the night and I'm like yes I did not wake up one time it was glorious I felt great when I came in yesterday until my babysitter sent me this frantic text during the show and she was like oh my god I missed all of your messages I'm so so sorry I'm like what in the heck is she talking about at 12 13 a.m. I started texting her oh really all of this random stuff about the kids and their schedule, some of it right, some of it not. And I'm like, I had no idea that I was up and texting.

00:04:23 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 7:

That's kind of scary.

00:04:24 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 4:

At 12, 13 a.m.

00:04:26 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 7:

Longer text or short text?

00:04:28 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

All of the above, several texts. And actually, like, very coherent. I used emojis. Wow. Very me style. But just none of this she really needed to know.

00:04:41 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 7:

And Wes didn't notice you on your phone at all. He didn't see, like, the light next to him while he was sleeping? He was out. Yeah, he was out. Look, I got a text from Shannon, too. You did not. I did. It starts with, don't tell Wes, but, and then you can imagine the rest.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

But, Ash, I need some.

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 3:

as she is sending like showing me that i had been texting her i'm like thank god she's the

00:05:08 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 4:

only person that's crazy could you could you exactly could you imagine texting somebody who like you want to say things to that you know if you did it would be a bad situation but then you actually sent it that would be insane what in the heck we all got them people my luck is i would

00:05:22 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 5:

oh trust me i would text back somebody that wants to get together and i would i would text the sales department that i'd go on another sales call um wow that's so has anybody ever done this has anybody ever text uh slept text

00:05:41 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

i don't think i've ever sleep text but there have been moments like it happened yesterday where in my mind i know i want to text somebody something or i want to text them back and i think i'm just doing so much and then i grab my phone to do it and then i look down and i've already done it So I've been, I've had, when I got texted a girl yesterday, I forgot what I'd text her, but in my mind, I wanted to send it, but don't remember actually sending it. Everything okay with your cognitive? I don't, to be honest with you, I don't know.

00:06:06 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 5:

I know, that scares me sometimes. Shannon brought up something yesterday off the air about how it bothers her when she can't remember the name of something or a word or something.

00:06:13 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 3:

Because remember yesterday, I was trying to think of the phrase urban legend.

00:06:16 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 5:

But when I forget things like what you just did and that, I'm like, oh God, here it comes. Yeah.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Like I'm living on autopilot kind of thing.

00:06:23 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

I've slept shopped. Oh, that's a big deal. So I've been scrolling on Amazon, adding stuff to my cart. And I don't know. I wake up the next day, totally forget about it. And then I have packages at my cart.

00:06:33 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 5:

It's kind of fun. Our show buddy, Johnny Dare, used to sleep shop all the time. I don't even know what it would be. Sleep shop, slept shop. Sleep shop. Sleep shop. Sleep shop. Sleep text. But he would do it all the time. And then randomly, and it's funny because he would buy weird stuff to begin with. but randomly like a bear costume would show up and no joke it would be some thoughts yeah like it was kind of crazy the things that would uh would come through um i am uh one of those people when i am sleeping i i think something happened when i wake up and this is the the the deal like i think is is that a dream that happened or is that really what happened and i used to sleep eat all the time so i would get up and go were you sleeping no i swear you know what i wish i could say the a-hole word right now on the air because that's you i'll say this you're a jagger all right so so i would um think oh my god i feel like i ate something like that and you'd feel like whatever and then you go to the kitchen and there would be the leftover pizza box sitting out on the counter. And it's like, I know that's what I ended up eating the thing. You, of course, don't think that was planned.

00:07:52 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

How do you combat that? Because my friend, you know, my friends, Andrea and Randy. Oh, yeah. And Randy used to sleep eat all the time, too. And Andrea is like, she loves baking and cooking. So there was always stuff out on the counter that she had made. And she would have to find places to hide it.

00:08:06 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:08:07 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

Because he would come into the kitchen and just like ravage the place.

00:08:11 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying you wake up. You go downstairs if you don't live on one level. You go downstairs, you go to the kitchen, and you're able to physically make food even though you're asleep.

00:08:22 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 5:

It was not necessarily I was making it. I was eating whatever that was there. Like out on the counter.

00:08:27 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 4:

So you had pizza boxes out there.

00:08:28 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I don't know Randy's thing. And I know Randy. It was that. He would make things? No, no, no, no.

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Whatever she had made out, he would eat. But he would eat all of it.

00:08:38 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 4:

And then go to bed? Or he would stay in the kitchen?

00:08:40 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

No, and then go back to bed. And she would wake up in the morning for work and go, what the heck happened? That's crazy.

00:08:47 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Megan? How you doing? Hey, good. How are you? Fantastic. What's going on with you?

00:08:55 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

So I actually, I have narcolepsy. It's pretty mild. I just, I don't like to fall asleep at will. I just am tired a lot. But I do this all the time. I sleep text. I talk at my sleep. Occasionally I'll sleepwalk. Some of the stuff I've done is pretty wild.

00:09:12 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 5:

Tell me about the sleep texting. What was the extent of the texting, if you remember any of the stories?

00:09:19 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

You know, a lot of it doesn't make sense. It almost seems like drunk texting. So the next morning I'll wake up and I'll be like, oh, my God. And some of my friends used to call me in the middle of the night or text me because they knew that I would be in some sort of trance or state. And I would respond, but it wouldn't make any sense. So it's like almost like a joke. Yeah, gibberish.

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just a bunch of gibberish. That is so wild. The sleepwalking is a crazy one, too. You have to be careful of that. When I was younger, like when I was like 12, I used to sleepwalk. And my brothers and sisters say it was like the weirdest thing ever. I would just be walking around, and they could tell that I was.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 1:

I was asleep because of how unalert I was.

00:10:03 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 2:

See, I would have thought you were possessed.

00:10:06 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

You would? If I was your brother, you would have just upwalking around. You would have thought I was going right to the refrigerator. He's got a demon. Hey, by the way, Megan, he's fat shaming me.

00:10:16 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 2:

I just don't believe you. I don't.

00:10:22 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 1:

A texter here says something interesting, and I never knew this, but it says, 248 said, I read an article one time that melatonin doesn't work for people with ADD and ADHD which is probably the reason why it doesn't work with me because when you said that you took melatonin, melatonin for me is like taking a Luden's cough drop to stop your cough. Really? It's just candy.

00:10:43 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, see, I am like out if I take it. You are?

00:10:47 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I have to take like I need a Xanax or something like that like I need the heavy stuff. You need a horse trick

00:10:55 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

or a horse trick.

00:10:56 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Another texter here says, can't call because I'm driving. But then how are you texting? What is that? Can't call because I'm driving, and I actually have a great story to tell you about sleep texting. Well, then pull over.

00:11:13 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 2:

Call instead of text. Use the same voice feature and call.

00:11:18 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, voice call. Just say, hey, call Mojo in the morning or call the phone number 844-665-6548-844-MOJO.

00:11:26 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

live uh to it's gotta be weird to be the partner of randy or to be chelsea like to be the partner of the person who sleepwalks because if i'm in the bed and like what's the first time that that happens if you don't communicate that to your partner like hey i sleepwalk and then the next night you just randomly wake up and they're like walking around you trying to get their attention That is creepy.

00:11:50 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 1:

That's insane. How about sleep sex? There's many people that have no clue, which is kind of scary, that they actually.

00:11:59 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Are you making that up?

00:12:00 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 1:

No. For real? Yeah. People who will be so incoherent sleeping wise, not realizing they had sex with their partner that night, which is scary because honestly, I'd be like, okay, hold on a second. I'm telling you, you were wanting to do it.

00:12:19 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

I swear you say yes.

00:12:20 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hold on a second. Let me grab a couple of calls here. I just switched over my phone thing.

00:12:29 - 00:12:30 | Unknown:

Long toes.

00:12:33 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? How you doing? Is this Julie? Hi. Yes. What did your brother do? Yeah, first time caller. Hey!

00:12:41 - 00:12:43 | Unknown:

First time caller. Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

00:12:45 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 3:

And when we were kids, my brother used to get up in the middle of the night and walk around and pee in everybody's shoes. Oh, God. That's bad. And one night, because he used to stay with me, I was laying in my chair, and I heard a zipper. I looked. I'm like, if you pee on me, I'm going to kill you. Oh, my God. And he goes, oh, oh, I'm not going to pee on you.

00:13:12 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

he walked him and peed in my closet instead oh my god that's crazy yeah that would that would get asleep get asleep i would have to like check all my clothes or look in my shoes just to make

00:13:27 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

sure that there wasn't no no i had three little dogs at the time so i bought this ultraviolet light that you run along so i want to make sure yeah male dogs i want to pee in absolutely stuff the spray yeah well i'm running this light and all of a sudden it goes three feet up the wall

00:13:45 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 1:

oh my god yeah there's no way your dog's going three feet up the wall no i told my brother

00:13:51 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:

00:14:02 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

00:14:09 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 4:

going on. Caitlin, how you doing? Good morning. I'm a first time caller.

00:14:17 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for calling. Finally, what's going on?

00:14:21 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

So I have a story about my uncle who's really bad with sleepwalking. He was apparently chasing a bowl of gravy in his dream. And my aunt found him. He walked down his long driveway and up his neighbor's driveway and was on the ground trying to get this bowl of gravy out from underneath his neighbor's car. That sounds like he was doing drugs. That doesn't sound like a dream to me. I swear he doesn't do that. He wakes my aunt up all the time in the middle of the night.

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 10:

swearing there's spiders on her and he's picking in her hair and he just is crazy when he goes to

00:15:07 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 8:

sleep i guess is he taking ambien because if that's the case i think that we got an answer no no he's not yeah that sounds like an ambien high what's going on brie

00:15:19 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 10:

hey what's up guys what's happening so i have a scary story and it's just i'm just sharing it as you know, a first time mom. So my daughter, who's now four, um, when she was two and a half bedtimes, eight 30, nine o'clock, you know, and I got a text from my neighbor at like midnight. Okay. Something's weird. Sure enough. My daughter at two and a half was sleepwalking, got out the front door and was sitting on her porch, meowing like a cat. Oh my God. She had her her blanket and one slipper on and she was sleepwalking so of course i'm terrified can't sleep now for weeks made a doctor's appointment and she sure enough has early stages of sleep apnea at four years old oh my gosh that's why she sleepwalks yeah that's that i know literally then the neighbor's like do you have a cat no she looks outside and there's my daughter sitting on her porch meowing sleeping but meowing like a cat have you had to do the sleep study thing with her i have it's very very weird because then it's like they're you're watching your daughter go through this like machines hooked up to them and i never had one done yeah so as i'm sitting there with her they're like i think you need to get tested too because you're very anxious i'm like well hello my you have my daughter i was the ladies the ladies that like laurie and everybody

00:16:49 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 8:

00:17:18 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 8:

sleeping he wait and he doesn't believe it like you say something to him in the morning

00:17:23 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So, like, what does he do? He, like, tries, like, touching on me, and he just has no clue what's going on.

00:17:33 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 8:

And do you usually push him off of you?

00:17:36 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:17:37 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 8:

Wow. So you think he's having, like, a sexual dream or something, and he's thinking about it, and that's what's going on?

00:17:44 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 5:

Maybe. He doesn't even recall ever having dreams or anything.

00:17:48 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 7:

Next time he does it, allow him to go the full length and just see if he's better.

00:17:54 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 8:

What are you, Fred? Wait.

00:17:57 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, man. Oh, yeah. I never thought about that. The hospitals, thank God they had generators and stuff. But I remember the gas stations were running out of gas.

bell saying they have voluntarily removed some ingredients at select locations as the food-borne parasite cyclosporiasis rapidly spreads across the U.S. The company stating public health officials have not confirmed a link to Taco Bell or any specific ingredient, supplier, restaurant, or retailer, adding they will closely monitor the situation. State health officials say there have been more than 600 new cases of cyclosporiasis in Michigan alone. Health officials now pointing to lettuce as a possible source of the outbreak in that state. We're

00:21:51 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 1:

continuing our trace back investigation on multiple produce items, including the lettuce.

00:21:56 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 3:

The CDC confirming cases in 34 states, warning that cases in Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio seem to have a similar source. The parasite spread through contaminated food or water can cause severe digestive issues, including diarrhea. Symptoms usually begin about one week

00:22:14 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 2:

after becoming infected. It was really bad. There were moments where I was literally just camped out in the bathroom and like i don't care i'm just gonna lay on this floor oh my gosh i'm

00:22:25 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 4:

thinking of kenyatta when i saw this story yeah that's funny i was just texting with her do you

00:22:28 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 5:

want to know the crazy part so this is nationwide um and taco bell is removing certain menu items just to kind of be safe here but they said the highest concentration of this parasite is in southeastern michigan wayne county specifically us in the entire usa Come on, man.

00:22:48 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 2:

We always lead in the charge. Whether it's music, art, culture, fat, diarrhea.

00:22:53 - 00:22:53 | Speaker 4:

We win the fat.

00:22:53 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 5:

Diarrhea. We're number one for diarrhea. We're winners, man.

00:22:57 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I would go home after having that Taco Bell, and I would just think it was just my normal Taco Bell. You know?

00:23:04 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 5:

That it doesn't stop.

00:23:05 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:23:06 - 00:23:51 | Speaker 5:

Noah Khan is having a crazy amazing week. A couple of months, really. but he just became the first artist to sell out four consecutive nights at Fenway Park in Boston, July 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th. Who? Noah Kahn. That's what I was thinking. We've been talking about Noah Kahn. No, he's a singer. I'm telling you. Can you play a song? In fact, the governor of Massachusetts a couple of days ago, July 11th, was Noah Kahn Day. He was inducted into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame, joining Billy Dole, Paul McCartney, and the Zac Brown Band. He also just scored a hole-in-one at Boston Golf Club, and his fourth album, The Great Divide, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Oh, he's having a good year. What a damn week.

00:23:51 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

It's kind of crazy. You know who he is? Noah Kahn?

00:23:53 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 5:

He sings the song, Stick Season.

00:23:55 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 4:

No, Noah Kahn is the guy who...

00:23:59 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that song.

00:24:00 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 4:

He's so popular with his fans, one of his fans pooped in the aisle in the concert instead of going to the bathroom. Do you remember that story that came out? It was like two or three. Maybe we were on vacation the week it came out.

00:24:14 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 2:

He's in Chicago tonight at Wrigley.

00:24:16 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 4:

The woman who was such a fan, she crapped, and then he had to make an announcement and say, hey, I know you guys love coming to these concerts, but you guys got to go to use the bathroom because somebody had to clean up after it. So this is no time.

00:24:31 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 5:

Pretty voice. And lastly, Howard Stern has laid off around a dozen staffers from his SiriusXM show. And the reason I'm hearing is because he is preparing to drop to just one live new show a week after Labor Day.

00:24:48 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

I love Mojo.

00:24:48 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 5:

Apparently, his staff received that news over Zoom the day before yesterday. And that's when they were told that when Howard comes back from summer break, it's just one new show a week.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Kudos to Mojo.

00:24:59 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

He kept.

00:25:00 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 1:

He's like a core team of veteran producers, but he just doesn't need that much content anymore. Didn't he just sign a contract, right? He did. I think it was worth, am I right in this number?

00:25:10 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:25:11 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 1:

$500 million is the number I heard. Is that even real? That's the number I heard.

00:25:16 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

One day a week. That's all he gets to do.

00:25:19 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so one day a week he's going to do a live show. The rest of the days are going to be filled with basically repeats from past shows. I mean, he's got a massive archive.

00:25:26 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 3:

I hate to say this, and I love Howard, and you know, Howard, you're a genius, so don't be mad at me for saying this, but you've kind of been one showing it a week, it seems like for the last few years, and it got me, when he went down to three days a week, I kind of slowed my listening down of listening to the show, and then he takes like all of summer off too, but the guy's old, I mean, he's in his, what, 70s, I think?

00:25:53 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 4:

So they say in 2020, he did sign like a five-year deal, reportedly worth $500 million. And then he signed a three-year extension in December of last year. Yeah. That's undisclosed amount. So three more years doing one episode a week. Wow.

00:26:08 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 3:

What do you guys think? One show a week. Are you ready for it?

00:26:10 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 4:

For $100 million? Hell yeah.

00:26:12 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

What day of the week would it be? Which day of the week would you choose? I would do Monday. I'd just get it out of the way. Would you?

00:26:17 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 1:

I would do Thursday. Or Friday.

00:26:20 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 3:

I know. I think everything's fun on a Friday. Yeah. I don't know.

00:26:23 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

All right, miss anything from today? Go back and catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app.

Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Tylee's goes to the champion. Question number one. Oh, my son was so upset. Spain upset France in the World Cup yesterday. How often is the FIFA World Cup played?

00:29:28 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 2:

Every four years.

00:29:31 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 3:

Question number two. Zendaya walked the red carpet for her new movie, The Odyssey, in a white dress complete with angel wings yesterday. Who is she married to? Three seconds.

00:29:49 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 2:

Pass.

00:29:50 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Question number three. LeBron James is supposedly going to make his decision today on which NBA team he'll be playing for next season.

00:30:00 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Which one of these teams has LeBron not played for? A, Golden State Warriors, B, Cleveland Cavaliers, or C, the L.A. Lakers?

00:30:14 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 3:

B.

00:30:16 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

Question number four. Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Scott, was rushed to the hospital two months after her DUI arrest. Which 2002 movie was loosely based on Eminem's life?

00:30:31 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 3:

Eight Mile.

00:30:32 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 2:

And question number five, actress Katie Holmes debuted her new relationship at an event in New York City this week. Which Mission Impossible star was she once married to?

00:30:46 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. Hold on.

00:30:48 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 2:

Three? Hold on. Come on.

00:30:50 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 1:

Time through.

00:30:51 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's bring the champ back from a second. I'm happy. I like it. Lindsay, I'm happy you got that one. I was a little worried.

00:30:57 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 1:

Here we go.

00:30:58 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 2:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof.

00:31:00 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, Lindsay from Livonia got three out of five. Oh, thank goodness. Respectable.

00:31:04 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Three out of five is what you got to beat today, Crystal. I think you're going to have no problem with this one, though. Here we go. Question number one. Spain upset France in the World Cup yesterday. How often is the FIFA World Cup played?

00:31:22 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

Every four years.

00:31:23 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes. One to one. Question number two. Zendaya walked the red carpet for her new movie, The Odyssey, in a white dress complete with angel wings yesterday. Who is she married to?

00:31:38 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 3:

Tom Holland.

00:31:38 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 2:

Tom Holland.

00:31:39 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Two to one.

00:31:40 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Question number three. LeBron James is reportedly going to be making his decision today on where he'll play his, what could be his last season ever in the NBA. It won't be. Next season. Which team that I'm about to list did he not ever play for? A, the Golden State Warriors, B, the Cleveland Cavaliers, or C, the L.A. Lakers? A. A is right, Golden State. Yeah, 3-1. And many are predicting that there is a complete turnaround and that Golden State may be where he'll land next year. A lot of people said it was off of his list, and everybody was talking about him going to Cleveland or Philadelphia. Rumor is that that is a done deal, Golden State Warriors. We'll see. What do you think, Kev? Where are you hoping he goes?

00:32:32 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't care. I'm going to be honest with you.

00:32:34 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 2:

Do you have a place you don't want to see him?

00:32:37 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 3:

No. I think it would be fun for him to pair with Steph Curry and relive the Olympics. I think it would be cool for him to go to Philadelphia. Wherever he goes, I think he can make an impact.

00:32:47 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 2:

I'd like to see him go back to his hometown and give Cleveland a little hope.

00:32:51 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 3:

Maybe that'll be next year. I think he'll play one more season and play 25 years.

00:32:56 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Question number four. Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Scott, was rushed to the hospital two months after her DUI arrest. Which 2002 movie was loosely based on Eminem's life?

00:33:10 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 3:

Eight miles. There you go. Four to two.

00:33:12 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 2:

And last question, Toledo native actress Katie Holmes debuted a new relationship at an event in New York City this week. Which Mission Impossible star was she once married to?

00:33:25 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 3:

Tom Cruise. There you go. Perfect score.

00:33:29 - 00:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she rolls along. Crystal with four. And by the way, the person that loses never walks away empty-handed. We got a prize for you. We're going to set you up with a prize, Lindsay, and shout out to Urban Air, our sponsor this week for the 5 at 655. Lindsey, go get some sleep, will you please?

00:33:52 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes, and I'm serious. Come see me at Zach's of Plymouth.

00:33:56 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I got to do that. I swear to you. So Plymouth, is it just off of Plymouth Road or where is it?

00:34:02 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 3:

It's off of Main Street and Ann Arbor Road. Just one number four. I'm on the radio. Just one number four.

00:34:10 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she's in the break room. Crystal's still in the break room.

00:34:13 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 3:

She still ain't punched in either.

00:34:14 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 2:

00:34:55 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:34:58 - 00:34:59 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:35:00 - 00:35:12 | Speaker 2:

five lies to tell your mom. Terrence, we're going to do five lies to tell your mom and phone scam her. Are you ready? Yes, sir. I love it. Bianca, what are we doing? All right. So Terrence works

00:35:12 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 1:

at a nursing home and we're going to pretend one of his patients got lost and is now on the loose.

00:35:18 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Grandma's on the road, baby. I love these. Has that ever happened, Terrence? Yeah. Really?

00:35:25 - 00:35:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so actually, we actually had a resident just walk out the front door just a couple days ago.

00:35:31 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and what do you do? Do you have to put, like, an all-points bulletin out? Is it like an, well, they don't call them Amber Alerts. Don't they call them something else? Well, usually they don't get too far.

00:35:41 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 4:

Usually we can catch them before they actually, like, leave the front yard. So they, you know, get a little, you know, two-second excursion. Silver Alerts?

00:35:50 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Silver Alerts. Yeah. So there's a silver alert. All right, here we go. You ready? These are the lies that you're going to have to tell your mom. Listen for these. Lie number one, you're going to have to say, Mom, I need your help. Lie number two.

00:36:04 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 4:

One of the patients left her room.

00:36:06 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 2:

Lie number three. She's trying to swim in the lake. Lie number four.

00:36:11 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Now she's getting naked. What do I do?

00:36:14 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 2:

And lie number five. Can you come here and try to stop her? Are we ready? I'm ready. By the way, if I was ever in a nursing home, for sure, I'm going to be f***ing all the older ladies in the other rooms.

00:36:30 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 4:

I thought you were going to say you would run away. Is there a lot of f***ing parents going on in a nursing home? No, we make sure not to, just because the majority of them are married.

00:36:41 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 2:

Any attempts, though? Oh, yeah, there's been a few. Oh, God.

00:36:45 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 4:

How far has it ever gotten? Almost penetration. Oh, ah! Terrence.

00:36:53 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Call Grandpa Nakey. All right, here we go. We're calling up your mom for five lies to tell your mom.

00:37:13 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello? Yeah.

00:37:20 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mom. So, um, I need your help real quick. With what? So, I got called into work, um, because one of my, uh, patients, uh, left her room, and we couldn't find her, um, and luckily, I did just find her, but she's trying to swim in Wolf Lake, and, uh, yeah, oh, God, she's, oh, she's getting naked now, I think, I think she's trying to take a bath, I don't know what to do.

00:37:49 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 3:

She's at the lake now?

00:37:51 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, is there any chance that you can come here and try to stop her? I don't know what to do.

00:38:03 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hi, Ken.

00:38:07 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Where are you at right now?

00:38:11 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 3:

00:40:24 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

00:40:25 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 1:

Hi, who are you?

00:40:28 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 3:

Who is this?

00:40:29 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo. Mojo in the morning show.

00:40:35 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea what you're talking about.

00:40:38 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 1:

Terrence, explain to your mom what's going on.

00:40:41 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 3:

So it's a radio show, 104.5 WSNX. They do a segment called Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. And I inquired and I told them a little bit about my life. And they gave me five lies to give you. and I had to make it believable so that you'd believe it

00:40:59 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 1:

in order to win a prize. It's so believable. It got your mom to get in her car to come over and help you with this old lady.

00:41:07 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

00:41:08 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 1:

Mom.

00:41:08 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm almost there. That just proves how good Oh, my gosh. She's almost there.

00:41:12 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Turn around. No, well, be safe. Be safe. We're driving.

00:41:17 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

00:41:19 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 1:

Mom, do you want to say hi to the lady that was in the water? Want to say hi to her?

00:41:25 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. How you doing, Mom? She deserves an award.

00:41:30 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 2:

I can't do it anymore. That was so good, Shannon.

00:41:33 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I feel so bad that you started driving. I know.

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 1:

It's horrible.

00:41:39 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

What a mom, though. Got right in the car.

00:41:41 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 1:

Unbelievable, Mom. Give it up for Mom.

00:41:44 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Go, Mom. My son knows that I would do anything for my dad.

00:41:51 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

I feel like Terrence, your mom, is who Shannon's trying to sound like. Terrence had you on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. He phone scammed you, and we're going to give you a prize, Mom, for being out.

00:42:07 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning. Five for me.

00:42:10 - 00:42:10 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:42:11 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 3:

Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

00:42:14 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

00:42:15 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 2:

You are insane. That was great. So good.

00:42:18 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 1:

that was great uh well hopefully all the elderly are not out today because it's going to be a hot day it's going to be very very miserably hot humid too yeah i mean uh the real fill temperature is well over 100 degrees and can i ask we got smoke yeah can i ask this question i don't know if uh there are any listeners that are living in these conditions but is there anybody nowadays it has no air conditioning or for some reason maybe your air conditioning went you know out on you like at this point how do you survive with no air conditioning in this like when I hear these stories about these high rises in Detroit you know where the slumlord landlords have you with no air conditioning or people who just in general don't have air conditioning and I'm thinking to myself that would be like I would rather have air conditioning than a phone you know like I would I would rather have the ability... Oh, yes. I'm telling you, even on a 45-degree day, I want to at least have air conditioning just for the sake of knowing that one day it's going to be hot.

00:43:24 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 2:

Just get fans, bro.

00:43:26 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 1:

I can't fan it.

00:43:26 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 4:

I remember my neighbors growing up didn't, but they had a basement, and they would all sleep in the basement because it was cooler.

00:43:32 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 1:

But does that feel like that cool, or is it humid, hot, and dampy?

00:43:36 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 2:

It's better than hot. Yeah. But fans, bro. My grandma got three fans going right now. She doesn't have air conditioning? No. I don't think grandma has ever had air conditioning. She's got to go to like...

00:43:47 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 1:

Please tell me that you pick her up and take her to your house.

00:43:50 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't... Grandma not on that.

00:43:51 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 1:

Why is she...

00:43:52 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 2:

First off, my grandma was born in 1930.

00:43:55 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:55 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 2:

So she comes from a different mindset, comes from a different time. She got three fans. She's good. I called her the other day. I called her, yes. I'm like, grandma, because obviously it's hot as hell. So I'm like, grandma, can I buy you a fan? And she's like, I'm fine. I got three fans going right now. I'm okay. I am fine. I am cool.

00:44:11 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Does she like being warm? because my dad, and he has air conditioning, but he loves being hot and, like, sweating it. Like, it's a thing.

00:44:18 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if she loves it or if she, like, she done had 95 summers. Like, she's been in 100-degree weather before. I can't. Like, she fun. But now she's old and fragile and, like, needs care. Yeah, but her mind, I feel like, is, I'm not going to say she's stubborn, but getting my grandma to go left when she's been going right her whole way, you got a better job being president. Well, tell her to drink some water.

00:44:42 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 1:

Which ain't difficult these days. Well, let me just say this to you. If you were a good guy, you would force her to come over to your place.

00:44:49 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 2:

It ain't that. It's not going to work.

00:44:51 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 1:

You can't force my grandma to do nothing, bro. Yes, you can. Tell her that you're taking her to just get ice cream and then don't bring her home.

00:44:57 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

She's 95. This is like the first hot summer she done.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, she's not going for it.

00:45:01 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Lisa can relate to you.

00:45:03 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 5:

She's like, I got my popsicles. That's what she's like, I'm good.

00:45:06 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 2:

Lisa, what's up?

00:45:07 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 5:

Hey, my mom is 90. She doesn't have air conditioning.

00:45:11 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 2:

Why are you not having her live with you?

00:45:14 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, I have a lot of stairs, and she can't go up and down a lot of stairs. But she refuses to leave her house. Yeah. My sister wants her to come to her house. She won't go. She won't come to my house. She likes it, I guess. I don't know. That's insane. None of us want to go visit her.

00:45:30 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 2:

It's funny. I said to Lydia, I said, we should have breaking and entering Christmas wish. Buy some, like, mobile air conditioning units for some of these people. Like, your mom, you know, that's 90. Kevin's grandma, that's 95. She would tell you to give it to somebody else. Come on.

00:45:46 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 1:

I promise you, bro. She'd be like, I don't need that. Give it to somebody else.

00:45:50 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

Does she also stick her hand over the hot stove just for fun of it? No, she's not stupid.

00:45:54 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 1:

She just enjoy the heat, I guess.

00:45:57 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 2:

It's like a fork in her eye just for the fun of it. I mean, that's like miserable.

00:46:02 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 5:

Keep the curtains closed. It'll keep the hot air out. Okay, whatever.

00:46:05 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Do you never go visit her? Because if that was my...

00:46:08 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, we go.

00:46:09 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 2:

I'd sit in my car.

00:46:10 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 5:

We don't stay long.

00:46:11 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, do you ever say, hey, mom, meet us out in the parking lot or the driveway or wherever she is? Street?

00:46:18 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 5:

She wouldn't go.

00:46:19 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

00:46:19 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 5:

She likes to stay in her house.

00:46:21 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 2:

I think your mom and Kevin's grandma need to be roommates. Can you imagine?

00:46:26 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 7:

Just stubborn and set in their ways.

00:46:28 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 2:

Be the version of the Golden Girls with no air conditioning. What's up, Eve? How you doing?

00:46:35 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So most older people have poor circulation. They actually enjoy this heat because it's the one time they're actually warm.

00:46:43 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 2:

That's what I got to look forward to?

00:46:46 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 6:

Yep.

00:46:46 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Is that why all the old people live in Florida and they don't care about living down there? Here's a thought.

00:46:51 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and if you go into every doctor's office, you'll see them all bundled up because all the doctor's offices are cold as hell, and they all have their little blankets and sweaters.

00:47:00 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Man, hold on a second. Jessica, what's up, Jessica? How are you?

00:47:06 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Morning. How are you guys?

00:47:08 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 2:

Good. You don't have air conditioning?

00:47:11 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 3:

Well, we just got it. Literally like a week ago, we just installed central AC, but I've grown up my whole life without air, and my husband always had air, and so he's like, we got to get it, we got to get it, and I'm like, no, I don't want it, and then finally we got it, and I'm sitting under a blanket for the last two nights.

00:47:27 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 2:

Where do you live? Like, what town do you live in that has homes with no air conditioning?

00:47:34 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 3:

We live in Brown City.

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 2:

Where's Brown City?

00:47:37 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 3:

So that's, like, up in the middle of the Thumb. Okay, okay. North of Emily City.

00:47:42 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so Brown City is a place where, do you see this frequently, where there are homes with no air conditioning?

00:47:49 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, I think most people have air. We just didn't.

00:47:53 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys have running water?

00:47:55 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 3:

We have a little electricity.

00:47:56 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Bro, people are out here with no air. I understand, but I don't understand what they're doing. Kevin, why are they doing that to themselves?

00:48:05 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 1:

Maybe they don't have a choice.

00:48:06 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 2:

I understand, but that's what I'm saying is that if it's that you don't have a choice and you want it, we could probably help you with it with Breaking Entering Christmas Wish. But if you're somebody that's like your grandmother that enjoys being sweaty.

00:48:21 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

Some people are just set in their ways, man.

00:48:23 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 7:

I still think it's so crazy that these educational institutions like colleges and universities don't have air conditioning in their dorms. Because I went to a school, I went to Butler University in Indianapolis, and I remember having that fan on me towards the end of the year, the beginning of the year. It was awful.

00:48:41 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Emily? How you doing?

00:48:44 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

00:48:45 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing great because I'm in the air conditioning right now. But if I was at Kevin's grandma's house, I'd be miserable.

00:48:50 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 1:

You've been in air conditioning since you popped out the womb.

00:48:54 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 2:

That's right.

00:48:54 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 4:

Right.

00:48:55 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 2:

I grew up on third base. What's going on?

00:49:01 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 4:

I do want to say first time, long time. Hey! I'm listening to you guys every single morning. Hey! Baby on the phone. Emily. Emily on the phone. Thank you. Emily.

00:49:11 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Emily.

00:49:15 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 4:

So we have AC now, but when we moved into our house two years, about two years ago our ac unit broke so and we have uh five dogs in our house at the time one of them was a border collie we had to spend all day soaking rags in water to cool the dogs down laying them on the floor our border collies uh hairy dogs yes oh wow really hairy yeah our Our pit bulls were happy because they're half bald, but. Yeah.

00:49:47 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. But you got air now?

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

It was rough. We ended up, we never got our AC unit fixed because the freon that it uses is no longer made. So we ended up having to put, I have three.

00:50:00 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 10:

window units running in my house whatever it takes thank god for and it and it kind of works it does okay it works on i'm not it'll be a little warmer today but thank god for dte's budget plan

00:50:16 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 3:

because it keeps our bill down wow hey uh lydia keep people's like emily's number here and maybe we will give air to somebody we'll see what we can do give her like a mobile air conditioning thing and see what happens uh jennifer what is it currently in your house right now

00:50:36 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 9:

uh 82 oh do you have air conditioning that's not working or you don't have any at all

00:50:42 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 11:

uh we don't well so we don't have any at all i have one window unit but it's in my daughter's because, obviously, that's my daughter. Yeah. What a mom. I would have put that in my room.

00:50:54 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 9:

I'd be snuggling with her.

00:50:57 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 11:

Well, she's a teenager. She's in that, you know. I'd still be snuggling with my mom.

00:51:02 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 3:

See, even more so, I would make sure she didn't have the air conditioning if she was a teenager. Stay still. You just do it to keep her quiet, don't you?

00:51:11 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 11:

No, no, no. God, she's my whole world. And I work, like, ten and a half hours a day, so I'm not home all day. oh is that why you work so many hours because the heat oh god no i wish i'm in like a gown all day so i'm like sweating because i'm in i work uh at a doctor's office but i mix chemotherapy so like i have to be gowned up with like a bonnet on my head and like booties on my shoes everything so

00:51:41 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 3:

i'm actually miserable at work wow lydia get jennifer's number too you mind if sharing your number with us and maybe we can see what we can do to help you yeah i don't mind put a little air in your room that would be great let's cool it off do you have a do you do you have a significant other or or a lover in your life uh yeah i do do you guys make sweaty sex or do you guys go and

00:52:06 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 11:

have it in your daughter's room when she's not home uh okay well she has a loft bed so i would not be able to get up there um but yeah no we have we do sweaty socks sweaty socks all right

00:52:17 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 3:

all right hold on jen hold on one second maybe we can help jen out here right now uh i don't i don't get some of these people that are like telling me it's not even that they don't have air conditioning they have air conditioning they don't turn it on oh at this point you have to i yes it's like have you ever gotten in a car with somebody and they say let's put the windows down or do you ever see these guys with convertibles driving in this weather right now?

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 5:

That's just to show off they got convertibles.

00:52:43 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Your fat, bald head is going to be fried.

00:52:47 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 5:

Now, if I'm in the car, I will say, sometimes outside air is better. It depends on how fast you're going. But when it's hot like it is now, them bitches getting rolled up.

00:52:59 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 9:

Wes has a Jeep, and he had, I noticed yesterday, he had the AC blasting, and the top was off the Jeep.

00:53:06 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 5:

That's what I do.

00:53:06 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 3:

We are giving you a brand new car. So we got a lot of good prizes, man. I'm telling you. I ain't joking, too, by the way, about that air conditioning thing. We're going to find ourselves a good one of those portable units you could put in a room. Turn that sucker down to 62, and we're going to freeze our balls. 62? You want to go lower than that? 62? You want to go lower than 60? I don't think it goes lower than 62. So you'll freeze that line. I think mine might be like, it's got to be below 50. I'm telling you. You cannot turn your conditioning lower than 50. It's not feasible. I'm telling you right now, what my thermostat on is damn near all the way to the left. Guess what? You better get. What's your bill? What is it? We talked about it. Who's the heating and cooling family? Family.

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 2:

By the way. I mean, truly they are. We had to call them last week because something was up and they came out immediately.

00:56:24 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if they're like so busy right now. I'm in an apartment, so it ain't my system. All right. So we're going to give you a bunch of good prizes. Let me get to where we got to go because that last commercial break got me. It was a long commercial break. We're going to give away the AC some hour this morning, so we're going to figure that out. We got a couple good possibilities of people that might need it. Right now, I want to give you a chance to win a car that has AC that will be nice to drive in. a brand new $28,000 Chevy Trax from Gordon Chevrolet or you can choose $20,000 if you would like that. That could buy you a lot of bags of ice at Speedway. How much is a bag of ice nowadays? A couple $3 maybe? I think it's nothing else. Ice? I usually go in there and I get the smaller bag but I always wonder who are the people that get the big ass monster sized bag? My parents. Call 844-MOJO-LIVE and win a $50 gas card, courtesy of Kroger Delivery, and qualify for a brand new car or the cash.

00:57:31 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, with the Dirty on the 30, we got the second date update coming up here in about, I don't know, 40 minutes or so. What's going on?

00:57:38 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm just getting some details about this. Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Scott, rushed to the hospital after fainting at her home in Chesterfield on Saturday evening. This was around like 8 o'clock. she was suffering from some sort of hemorrhage or laceration that led to heavy and uncontrolled bleeding and if you saw the video on like tmz or page six you saw paramedics taking her from her home on a gurney and she appeared to be unconscious so i do hope she's okay she was transported to mclaren macomb i don't have any updates on her condition right now but it's it hasn't been an easy couple of months for her that wasn't yesterday because i did see that all

00:58:15 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

over social saturday evening saturday evening eight o'clock somebody got the picture and then released it huh yeah wow it's sad i uh you know i feel bad i you don't want to see anybody in in

00:58:27 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 2:

bad place so yeah justin verlander made his 10th and final all-star game appearance at yesterday's midsummer classic in philly they had him on tv non-stop during the the game they like let him just do his thing the sound was driving me nuts though because anytime they went to interview him It was so loud there, like, case in point.

00:58:46 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 4:

First of all, Justin, congratulations. Have you been able to sit back and kind of soak in everything this one, this temp trip represents? Yeah, I'm sure I'm trying my best. I was like, what? I think everyone sees on the way over here ask me, does it ever get old? And, I mean, it really doesn't, man. It doesn't matter if you're first or you're tenth. You know, or Mike's here for his twelfth, it's unbelievable. But I think things have changed outside of baseball. You know, my family now, they're here and getting to experience that.

00:59:11 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 3:

We may never see this ever again, guys. Verlander? No, we may never see a 40-something-year-old pitcher with that many innings pitched, that many wins, because they just don't do it anymore. Do you remember there was a period in Verlander's career with the Tigers where the guy literally was throwing no-hitters after no-hitters, but also complete games after complete games? And nowadays, they just don't allow the pitchers to pitch that much anymore. The guy is a phenom. He's he's it's awesome to see how excited he is to be back in a Detroit Tigers uniform.

00:59:44 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Although he said it's the season's not what I wanted it to be.

00:59:48 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

But there is a great is a great picture. You got to go look of him at the All-Star Game with his supermodel wife and their baby. So their little girl.

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 7:

I think they have two now.

01:00:02 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, there's a boy there and a girl.

01:00:04 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 5:

R. Kelly wants out. He has now formally asked President Donald Trump to commute his 30-year sentence.

01:00:12 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 1:

R&B star R. Kelly has now formally asked President Trump to commute his 30-year sentence for sexual misconduct convictions. Kelly was convicted in 2022, and last year he filed for an immediate release in prison, saying his life was in danger. His lawyer also made a public plea to President Trump for a pardon, but never formally.

01:00:34 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 3:

I'm Donald J. Trump, and I don't approve of this mojo in the morning message.

01:00:38 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, Democratic Michigan Senator Haley Stevens is trending this morning for nothing really that has to do with politics specifically per se. But this is a clip from a campaign stop that she did in E-Course, Michigan.

01:00:53 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 7:

She got a little fired up. I mean, she was riling up the truth.

01:00:57 - 01:01:16 | Speaker 4:

I am going to be working on our behalf. I am going to be telling the stories on our behalf. And you better believe I'm going to be doing it with a little bit of joy, a little bit of enthusiasm, a little bit of energy, and a little bit of stick it to them. Because that's the Michigan way.

01:01:16 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 5:

A lot of people were comparing it to that famous Chris Farley SNL skit.

01:01:23 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 6:

Brian, from what I've heard, you're using your paper not for writing, but for rolling doobies. You're going to be doing a lot of doobie rolling when you're living in a van down by the river.

01:01:41 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 8:

Hearing her, the first thought was like, this could be on SNL.

01:01:44 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 7:

Isn't that great? Can I give her a piece of advice? Because I actually have met her, and she's a really, really nice person.

01:01:51 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, her office was the one that led Smith and I on a tour around the Capitol a couple months ago.

01:01:56 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 7:

And I'm going to say this. She's done a great job as a congresswoman representing our area. So she needs to smile more in some of her interviews. She's got a very clinchy, like, you know, and I think it's good. Listen, if a guy did this, I would say the same thing, too. So don't think I'm just saying it because she's a woman. But I feel like she does come across like a little, like she's a little, and I, and I want Haley to, you know, you know, smile a little bit. That'll get your vote?

01:02:30 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 8:

Well. As long as she cracks the corners? I'll be honest. I'll be honest with you.

01:02:34 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going to tell you who I'm. Cracks the corners.

01:02:35 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 8:

The corners to the eyes.

01:02:36 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going to tell you who I will vote for or won't vote for, but I will tell you I'll vote for somebody that smiles. Oh. That's all it takes. All right.

01:02:44 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm smiling as I'm closing this dirty. So if you miss anything today, you can listen for free on the iHeartRadio app.

01:02:52 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 2:

We're excited for you. Hang on the phone and we'll get your information. And thank you to all of our friends over at Gordon Chevrolet for a great summer of cars, cash, and gas. Another chance coming up here in just a little bit. It's Mojo in the morning. this is funny because i remember the last time that we talked about kev's mom it was something kind of similar um but your mom had to make a a phone call an emergency phone call or called you

01:03:57 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 8:

to say that yeah yeah she called me my mom is crazy bro i don't know if she getting up there in age or she's always been like this and now i'm just kind of realizing it but she called me and she's like i called 9-1-1 i'm like immediately i'm like sitting like what's wrong like what's going on that's not you know something that she normally does or anything she's like it was a raccoon in front of the house you called a raccoon i'm like what was it doing was it like trying to get in but she was like no it's dead i'm like you called 9-1-1 on a dead raccoon she's like yes i want them to come get it out the street i like i don't think you call 9-1-1 for that as a matter of fact i know you don't call 9-1-1 for that they're there for emergencies she was like who else am I supposed to call I was like great question but no like you don't call 9-1-1 what did they say she was like they gave me another number to call and then I called that number nobody answered so don't you call like animal control or something I don't know what in her brain said 9-1-1 call the police to come get this dead raccoon down my street well because if she

01:04:58 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 7:

She called her son to ask with help.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 4:

he'd probably say no.

01:05:01 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 5:

I'd be like, it's okay. Isn't I bothering anybody? Let a bird eat it. Yeah, what am I supposed to do?

01:05:09 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. I'd love to know what's the craziest reason why somebody called 911. We should get a 911 operator to call in. Oh, I would love that. That would be insane. That would be amazing. The last time, though, that your mom had some issues,

01:05:21 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 5:

remember it was that she thought that there was a big lake in front of her house? That was a puddle. Honestly, though, an update, because I remember we had former mayor Duggan on it. You know, he was saying, you know, give me your address. I don't know if he was going to make something happen. My mom is the second house to the corner. The corner house, the entire sidewalk has been pulled up. And for some reason, they extended it right up until her house. So none of the other homes on the street got their sidewalk done. But my mom in the corner house, brand new sidewalk, brand new ending of the driveway. So no more flooding. Oh, so there might have actually been an issue. Might have been an issue.

01:05:59 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 4:

They know her. Do you think that when the call comes in, they go, here she is again.

01:06:05 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 5:

It's Miss Henderson on line three.

01:06:07 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 4:

She got a dead raccoon. What's your mom's first name? Lisa. Hello, Lisa. They answer, hello, Lisa. Hey, Lisa. They don't even go 911 with your name. Hello, Lisa. What's going on, Lisa? Yes, I have a dead raccoon.

01:06:21 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 5:

I can only imagine being a 911 operator, getting emergency after emergency after emergency, and then you get to de-array him. Excuse me, what?

01:06:29 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

9-1-1, what's your emergency? Yeah, my wife got attacked by a warthog real bad and I need someone to come up with an ambulance and pick her up. Okay, sir, can you give me your address? Yeah, we're at 1825 Eucalyptus Drive. Okay, could you spell that for me, sir? I'm going to drag her on over to Oak Street and you can pick her up there.

01:06:52 - 01:06:52 | Unknown:

I love it.

01:06:54 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 4:

Valerie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:06:56 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 1:

hi hi i had gotten a new grill for christmas and i couldn't get to the shed to put it away because there was snow so i brought the propane tank in the house and a couple days later my carbon monoxide detector kept blinking um l6 l6 and i'm like oh my gosh level six it was going off it was alarming so i called 9-1-1 and they showed up only to tell me that that was lb for low battery they reamed me out for having propane in the house yeah she's at level six that is so

01:07:37 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 4:

funny though oh that is so funny that is so good valerie i love you you're you're good yeah honestly i'm pretty you're pretty beautiful better safe than sorry though i gotta tell you I don't know.

01:07:54 - 01:08:00 | Speaker 2:

I kind of agree. I mean, not in the raccoon case, but L6 would scare me. Don't be talking about my mama.

01:08:00 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:08:01 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 2:

Lisa, we love you, Lisa.

01:08:03 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 4:

I've often had the fear of having Chelsea call 911 and having, you know, me be have to carry it out and stuff like that. Like, that would be just like an awful situation. And it's made me always go, I'm never going to not sleep with clothes on. Because I always, you know what I mean? Like, picture me on a gurney and those guys carrying a naked body out of the house. You'd be on TMZ. I, knock on wood, and thank God, have never had to, like, have the, like, it's never been, like, any of that situation.

01:08:38 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 2:

I called 911 for a wrong way driver one time on my way to work. Okay. I'm trying to think when I have ever, like, even when our cars got broken into, I didn't call 911. I called, like, the local police department number, you know? Really?

01:08:50 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:08:51 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:08:52 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Like the non-emergency?

01:08:54 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Because it's not an emergency. I mean, I don't know what they can do in that moment.

01:08:58 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 5:

I've called 911 a couple times.

01:09:00 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 4:

Somebody said that they actually called 911 because there was a rabid raccoon acting strange. And they came out and shot it. I see nothing wrong with that. What area of town? Okay, 810. 810 is our area. Yeah. Can you imagine that? What's our area?

01:09:19 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 5:

You've got to call Animal Control. Well, it's the Metro Detroit area. Oh, gotcha. Okay. Yeah.

01:09:22 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 4:

But I was wondering, like, what town that was in. Could you imagine that, though? I would not want to see that.

01:09:27 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 5:

A rabbit raccoon?

01:09:28 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I'd love to watch that.

01:09:30 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 5:

What?

01:09:30 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I have no love for raccoons. I love them. They knock over our garbage cans.

01:09:35 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 5:

They're one of my favorite animals. I'm not going to lie.

01:09:36 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 4:

They're a-holes.

01:09:39 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 5:

I'll shoot one.

01:09:40 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:09:40 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 5:

I low-key want a sniper.

01:09:41 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:09:42 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I'd be so cold as a sniper.

01:09:43 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine they send out the sniper crew, the SWAT team, to come out and get rid of the raccoon?

01:09:50 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Dynamite in there, boy.

01:09:51 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 4:

Madison, what's up?

01:09:53 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. First of all, I love you guys so much. I listen to you every morning. Love you, too.

01:09:58 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:09:59 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:10:00 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 7:

really uh really struggled through postpartum and you guys really like kept me going in the morning so i just really appreciate you all um but calling because my grandpa literally called 911 all the time and thank god the royal oak uh fire station is like so amazing but the other day like two days ago actually he called 911 because he had a dream that he had a heart attack and he's like it's gotta happen and they got there and they were like his name is dick too which is really funny um and they're like dick what's going on and he was like you know i just had a dream and you guys just had to be here because i know i'm gonna die oh no just all dying laughing and they have a key to his house because it's so bad and i swear to god the like the day he actually dies i think the fire department's gonna celebrate why do all old

01:10:49 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 4:

people get to a point where every day they just tell you that they're dying soon yeah it's a thing

01:10:54 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God, it's hilarious. He said, I had a dream. I'm like, can we, yeah, can we stop calling Wolfs, please? Because it's going to happen one day, and we're all going to be like, he's not actually dead.

01:11:05 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 2:

It's Dick again. Here we go. Let's go see what he wants. Hey, Royal, what's up?

01:11:10 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so some years ago when I was a kid, or a teenager, whatever, there was a big old spider web outside of our house or whatever. It was, like, covering the front lawn. And so my auntie saw the spider and called the police. And the police was like, there's nothing we can do about that. There's still animal control. It was a daddy long way. Animal control, like, got the spider as we wanted. And it was literally, like, the size of a golf ball. Oh, my God. Tarantulas. Okay. I'm pretty certain they blocked her after that.

01:11:42 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:11:42 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 4:

A spider the size of a golf ball? Are you kidding me?

01:11:45 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would scare me. I would wonder if that thing's biting. What's going on, Melanie? How you doing?

01:11:51 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 4:

and so i'm listening to you guys on the radio and i'm driving in my watch all of a sudden starts calling 9-1-1 and i'm freaking out because i'm trying to drive and hang up right because i'm not purposely calling them with listening to you guys my watch started calling them that's why it picked up our voice saying calling them yeah and then he called me back oh my god i apologize Guys, yes, it was not intentional, but I was listening to the radio. That's funny. I wonder how many other people that happened.

01:12:23 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 2:

Well, I one time had a listener named Alexa on the phone and said, hey, Alexa. And when I did that, people were saying that it caused for their Alexa.

01:12:32 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I just did it again. What's up, Lisa? Hi. I used to live in a trailer park, and we had a bad set of raccoons and whatnot. And then I was taking a shower, and it looked like somebody was peeking through my window in the bathroom. And I'm like, oh, there's somebody trying to break in my freaking house. So I called 911. They said, no, it's just a raccoon.

01:12:55 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 2:

See, I told you. The vermin.

01:12:57 - 01:13:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm like, this is crazy. I know. But, yeah, it was a mama raccoon with a bunch of babies in the tree. Oh, my God. And the cops are sitting there like, we can't even do anything. We got to call animal control. And then animal control happened to be closed because it was like 8, 9 o'clock at night. So by the time they got there, they scared me off. I was like, oh, great.

01:13:19 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 4:

Like you usually need animal control at night.

01:13:22 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 2:

What's up? How you doing, Victoria?

01:13:25 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I called. I texted him because I called Redman 1 when my husband was drinking and my son was in the backyard. And he said, I can be Spider-Man. Look. To our son. Climbed a tree and fell right out. Was he okay? I don't. He's okay. He had a back race for a while. Oh, my God. Oh, please tell me you have not let him live that down.

01:13:53 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Or drink again.

01:13:53 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, we have security cameras in the back, and every year the video pops up.

01:13:58 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:14:00 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 6:

He looks like a rag doll.

01:14:02 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome.

01:14:04 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 1:

His dating profile pic was a nine, but what showed up was a three. Second date update is after eight this morning on Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:13 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I want to shout out and say congratulations to Randy Auerbach. Randy retired yesterday from iHeartMedia. Job well done, Randy. Turned in his, I don't know, his tool belt. He was our chief engineer at this radio station for way more than a decade. I don't even know how long, maybe 15 years. Holy cow. He was 32 years in the biz.

01:14:41 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 5:

Older than me.

01:14:42 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 2:

I think he was the chief for like at least maybe 18 of those years or 20 of those years. I don't know. He was amazing. So he always worked hard. He had not enough help. I hate to say it.

01:14:53 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 1:

Is that true?

01:14:54 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, they think, you know, back in the day for all the radio stations that we have, like seven radio stations.

01:15:00 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 1:

you would at least have five engineers and there was a point where it was like randy and mark and that was pretty much it and so um so it was cool so yesterday they had a goodbye party for them and of course if i retire and you guys throw a goodbye party and somebody plays mojo bingo i want you guys to know this i will come back and haunt your asses when i retire please do me a favor let my wife throw the party

01:15:29 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 2:

she does throw a good party we gotta do it, it's tradition

01:15:33 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 3:

I had to run out so I wasn't able to stay because the kids had their annual doctor's appointments but did they give him an award yeah, they gave him

01:15:41 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 5:

Kim presented him with a beautiful plaque it had his name on it, all written in gold script and beautiful calligraphy it had his name first and last and at the very top to signify his chief engineership in his 32 years of service. A gold screwdriver. A gold screwdriver.

01:16:02 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 1:

What? Actually, can I tell you what was given to him that I thought was the coolest thing? The new engineer Jimmy? No, Andy, the other one. Oh, okay.

01:16:11 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was going to say we got two new guys. Andy gave

01:16:13 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 1:

a cleaned up, he cleaned it up top of the channel 955 tower. That is super

01:16:22 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 2:

He was up there?

01:16:23 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 1:

What does that mean? So the top piece of the tower, there's a metal piece that holds that light that blinks up on the top of the tower. And there's a metal piece. He shined it all up. It was gold. And he basically said, hey, this is the top of the tower that you kept alive for the longest time.

01:16:40 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that is a unique.

01:16:41 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 1:

And Randy said he's going to use it as like a paperweight or something on his desk. It was pretty cool. I thought that was actually very classy and such a cool thing. Interesting. Yeah, it was neat.

01:16:51 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Randy, for everything you've done for us, because I know over the years, like, we've had some wild things going on, and he kept it together for us, so.

01:16:58 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 1:

This was a part, this was a realization for me that I, you know, you don't know the people that you work with sometimes. When Randy had a daughter that was at Taylor Swift with him, he went to Taylor, back in the day, because I looked at Randy, honestly, as a guy that was working all the time, I didn't even know he had kids. Like, it's crazy, and that just shows you how many hours a man works and how much the guy has to do and puts into his job. Sometimes you don't even know his family life and what his family's like, but I can only imagine that his wife is very happy that they're not going to be getting phone calls from the Mojo in the Morning Show at 5 a.m. saying that something is broken.

01:17:36 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 4:

So Buddy had to climb all the way to the top of the tower to get that thing?

01:17:40 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we just changed our tower out, literally. Literally, that's why Randy waited until this week to, he hung on to do, to make sure that that happened. So, guys, awesome. He completes the job. So, thank you to Randy Auerbach. I got a chance to hang out with the rest of the radio staff here from all the other radio stations and got to see my good friend, Jay Towers, yesterday.

01:18:07 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Jay was here.

01:18:08 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

And I got to talk to Jay, who, by the way, looks unbelievable. I mean, if you haven't seen Jay or follow Jay on social media, go follow Jay. Jay is, uh, Jay is, it's so funny. I said to Jay, I go in the last, like maybe six months, he has been to see Bobby Brown like three times, Keith Sweat, Tony Braxton, SWV, his favorite group of all time, new edition and uh i mean this guy's living like his his best 90s r&b life right now he went to see usher too i'm sure he was at usher and chris brown um and he goes to to these you know concerts and then puts these cool like you know videos and stuff together on social media and i i i said to him i i go you know man you're like going on and he's like i know he goes you know basically it was i think he thought i was going to make fun of him and i'm not and i that's the problem with Jay and I's relationship because it was so contentious for a while where I was it was like the David Letterman Leno thing back in the day where we would go back and I would go back and forth with him just try to you know rile him up and he would ignore me the entire time and not say anything which was probably the smart thing to do and now I'm kind of like past that where I don't do it but I still think he thinks that in my head that's what I'm doing. Scarred him. I did notice something that he was doing yesterday that I do want to point out. What was it? And I don't know if this is because of something with me and if it is please tell me every time that I would talk to him and I was trying to engage in conversation with him which he was engaging back he would back up like two or so steps every time that I would get closer to him hot breath and did you brush your teeth yesterday I am not lying to you guys I don't think I smell but I also don't lie to you I wasn't that close like I was about I was about Shannon's distance

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 3:

away how shannon is sitting here really and every yeah i swear to you because sometimes you can be

01:20:05 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 2:

a little bit of a close talker what i get close sometimes when i didn't think i was when i saw

01:20:12 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 4:

y'all standing next to each other y'all were a lot closer than you yeah right now but you don't

01:20:16 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 3:

realize you invade the personal space so how what is the proper distance to be from somebody talking

01:20:24 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 4:

to them i think like like anna and i because sometimes and nothing about it it's not always a body odor thing it's not always a breath thing it's just a proximity thing like if i'm so close

01:20:35 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 2:

to you it's damn near weird but did he back up just one time or did he continuously do it

01:20:39 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 3:

throughout the conversation it was like three or four times well you step forward when he backed up no i but here's the problem i couldn't hear him there's people talking it's a huge room of people and every time he backs up i'm thinking to myself i can't understand what the hell you're saying so i'm trying to get closer so that i'm not having to say what'd you say what you know what i mean like i was i was trying to be uh as respectful as i possibly could and i i got to be quite honest with you i don't consider myself a close talker but now that you just said that

01:21:09 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 4:

that makes me now fearful that i am sometimes you just don't want to talk to the person well and then you start backing up and they start coming forth like i'm actually trying to get

01:21:19 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 3:

out of this situation i mean i i'll be be quite honest with you i do sense that sometimes when i do have conversations with him that maybe he doesn't want to talk to me but but i do like to talk to him i actually enjoy talking to him i enjoy his company i enjoy being around him and stuff but it was uh it was one of those situations where i was like i'm like hey i was like so tell me about keith sweat and he's like he's pulling back a little bit um what it's so so give me i know that you say that is how long is that from you uh you and anna like it depends on like if

01:21:55 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 4:

i'm trying to tell her something like you know it depends on the topic of conversation if we just

01:22:00 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 1:

talking like this is cool so it's like this is like inviting other people into the conversation

01:22:05 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 3:

it's like the holy spirit away from you like they used to say when in catholic school with girls that were wearing or dancing with boys

01:22:13 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 2:

Leave room for Jesus

01:22:14 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 3:

Leave room for, yeah

01:22:16 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 4:

My Jesus ain't this big though

01:22:19 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 3:

That's what it made me feel like It kind of made me feel like not that I smelled or anything but that I was just a large man that he just did not want to get close to I kind of felt like that

01:22:32 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 4:

What was his facial expression though? Was he engaged?

01:22:37 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 3:

No, Jay's good at not making me feel like I am annoying him at the time until later when I think about it. Like, you know what I mean? Yeah, you have realization. Yeah.

01:22:47 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 4:

He wasn't into that.

01:22:48 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he's, yeah. He's on freeway shooting on Detroit's west side. So this happened on the Eastbound 996. Oh, here he is, right? This is near Bintler. Fox's or Murdoch joins us live from the city. Oh, it's a good story today. Jay looks so good on TV. Yeah, it's Jay live.

01:22:58 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 2:

Shooting on the freeway.

01:23:00 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 3:

Jay looks, by the way, so much younger now.

01:23:04 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 2:

Honest to God, I feel like he's aged backwards recently.

01:23:07 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he looks so much younger and looks so good. He's all got nice, you know, real fitted suits and stuff.

01:23:14 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 4:

He's probably enjoying his life. You say he's going to all these concerts. He's probably feeling good. He is.

01:23:20 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, think about it. He's like skinny as hell. He's got great outfits, and he's going to see all the artists that we grew up with. What's up, Ray? How you doing?

01:23:30 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 5:

I'm well. How are you guys this morning?

01:23:31 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's going on?

01:23:33 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 5:

So I was just thinking about the whole proximity comment, And it's one of those situations where, like, if you're a taller guy and you're bigger, it's almost like you're just towering over people. It doesn't matter really how close you are to them. Like, and if you get too close, then you really are towering over people.

01:23:49 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 2:

But you're not that much taller than Jay.

01:23:51 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, I am.

01:23:52 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Are you? Yeah. Not as much as much as much as you got deeper.

01:23:56 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

01:23:57 - 01:23:58 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah, I am.

01:23:58 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 5:

Nobody wants to have to constantly be staring up at a giant.

01:24:02 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 3:

He's Kevin's size.

01:24:03 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 4:

I feel like you may be a head above, but it ain't like, you know. It's not like you and me standing next to each other. You probably a head above, too. Yeah, he's Kevin-sized.

01:24:13 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 2:

That's not that crazy. That's not crazy. Are you going to give somebody a next friend? They're the same height, practically. Yeah, all right.

01:24:22 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 3:

So do you think that it's like it's the intimidation? Here's the other thing, too, now. If he backs up now two feet away from me and I'm taller, I'm up in the air, I can't hear anything, Ray.

01:24:35 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you end up giving somebody, like, a neck cramp or something when they have to stand.

01:24:39 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he's, like, wide lensing me a little bit. What's going on, Amanda? How you doing?

01:24:47 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo. First time caller, long time. Hey, Amanda. Good morning. So I called because I've actually reached out a few times, but you've mentioned in the past some trouble with.

01:25:00 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 5:

3-ing, dyslexia, ADD, and now with this spatial awareness with your personal space.

01:25:04 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:25:05 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 5:

It sounds a lot like you might have a visual dysfunction.

01:25:08 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:25:09 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 5:

I work in vision therapy, so we work with a lot of people with similar difficulties, and it's actually very treatable. So I wanted to just let you know if that's something you're interested in checking out.

01:25:17 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 3:

Do I got to do another, like, sleep study and stay overnight somewhere? I just did one for sleep apnea.

01:25:21 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 5:

No, no. It's super quick, super easy, just some, like, tracking tests and to see how your eyes are working. Is it a puff test? Usually these issues are. No, not at all. it doesn't hurt um it's a lot of it's yeah so people with like a lazy eye that's one issue i think that is there are i got one yeah there's other visual dysfunctions too

01:25:40 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 3:

i think it's i think it's my right eye my right eye i got i got heavy eyelids i say so it's really

01:25:48 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 5:

easy to fix though so if you ever want to fix it see a developments optometrist we are in northville But so kids struggling in school, adults struggling with these issues.

01:25:56 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 3:

Do me a favor. Text 95500 with your office name and stuff. Okay? Okay. Yeah, I will. Thanks, Amanda. You've got enough going on.

01:26:04 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 5:

All right. Thank you. Bye, guys.

01:26:06 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 2:

He has a visual impairment.

01:26:07 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 3:

Look, he got sleep apnea, torn meniscus. Lack of spatial awareness.

01:26:11 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you know what I need? Gluten allergy.

01:26:15 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 3:

I need a handicap sticker for my car because I think I earned it. I have earned it. I can park anywhere I want.

01:26:21 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite Grand Rapids

01:26:25 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 3:

Why is Shannon backing away from me right now?

01:26:26 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 2:

An iHeart radio station Guaranteed human It's crazy Three great radio stations One stupid show Mojo in the morning Live Mojo

01:26:38 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 1:

01:26:52 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

01:26:54 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:26:56 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo head.

01:26:57 - 01:26:59 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go.

01:26:59 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 3:

Here we go, go, go. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. Coming up this hour on the show, second date update, why are you not getting a call back? The question she asked him on their first date is the reason why he does not want to go on another date when you hear where that question is you judge for yourself would you be offended by it so we will have that for you coming up in about 10 minutes and then we had another pair of morgan wall and tickets we're going to pay your bills with a thousand dollars a couple of times before the end of the show and we're going to do cars cash and gas and give away a car or twenty thousand dollars all in the second half of the show ron what's up it's mojo in the morning what's going

01:27:46 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 4:

on yeah what's going on i was just about to comment about the topic i think it was before but you know sometimes you ever been in an enclosed space and like not only is the person their breath might be hot they might be a little too close but then they put like a lot of emphasis on like the p words and stuff like that they're spitting they shoot they shoot they shoot droplets everywhere and stuff like that you like come on bro i don't think i'm a spitter anymore but i think i don't

01:28:11 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 3:

think i don't think i'm a spitter i think that i i have not ever had been called that at all but and i don't think i've got bad breath but i could i don't know i was at dr reynolds office yesterday at reynolds orthodontics and they would always tell me if i had bad breath i don't think i he actually commented about how good my teeth are looking then he opened up uh anna rob's file and

01:28:33 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 1:

showed me anna rob's looks good your teeth you guys all three in this room do you know what he

01:28:38 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 3:

He showed me with your teeth. He showed me your teeth when you came in, and then he showed me your teeth now. And he says, what do you notice about it? And I said, she looks younger. What he did to your teeth made your teeth look younger.

01:28:51 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he widened my smile.

01:28:53 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 3:

It's pretty wild. Honestly, Shannon, it's something that when I saw it, I never knew that a smile could actually change a person's. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks for the call, Ron. I appreciate you, buddy.

01:29:04 - 01:29:05 | Speaker 4:

For sure, man.

01:29:06 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 3:

What are you laughing at? You laughing at me? Come on now.

01:29:09 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 4:

No, absolutely not. Mojo, you the GOAT, bro. You the Cuban brother. I love you, buddy. Thank you.

01:29:14 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. This is something that I think is, I kind of tend to think it's common in a lot of relationships. But how do you deal with it? Shannon, in her marriage with Wes, couldn't be more different when it comes to something.

01:29:34 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Vacation. Vacation styles. Oh. yeah i feel like i feel like maybe a lot of couples deal with this but wes and his son kieran are leaving for a road trip tomorrow and they're going through utah montana wyoming and idaho wow that's cool so they're doing like yellowstone and i think maybe is there too yeah so

01:30:00 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 2:

So, but they are doing it in an RV and so I think they're landing in Park City and they get the, the RV and they're like driving through and like camping out at night and, you know, doing all the things and that, those places are on my bucket list. I've always wanted to go to like Big Sky, Bozeman, Park City and Wes was like, um, I would love to do something like this with you, but I know that you would never camp or take an RV and, like, drive all that way. And I'm like, you are right. Absolutely shoot me before you find me camping anywhere.

01:30:34 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 4:

So you would not do it in a car.

01:30:36 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

So he's like, and that's exactly why I'm doing it with Kieran. But I'm like, this is my dream trip.

01:30:41 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 4:

You want to go visit, stay in whatever they have as far as hotels or lodging, right?

01:30:45 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I want to do all the outdoorsy things. I love hiking and biking and all that kind of stuff. But at night, I want to be in a bed with pillows and a TV in front of me.

01:30:53 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I feel you. I would.

01:30:56 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 2:

You could glam.

01:30:57 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:30:58 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know if I'm a glamper.

01:31:01 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

You could take an air mattress, blow it up, do something like that to make it fit more of your style. No, sir.

01:31:07 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 4:

So there's no middle ground.

01:31:08 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:31:09 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 4:

Are there couples that have different travel things and just go on different vacations? Would you at very least travel from city to city in the RV and then just stay in a hotel or would you still want to get in an airplane and fly?

01:31:22 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 2:

I'd probably still want to get in an airplane. Yeah.

01:31:24 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 4:

I see that. I think this is more common than we think. I think there are more couples that are different with that.

01:31:32 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 3:

Why are you pointing at me? Because you just got out in the field and did all your shrubbery.

01:31:37 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You can do this too. But I went back inside my air-conditioned house with my nice bathroom.

01:31:43 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 3:

It's not for the rest of your life, though. It's just for a couple nights. Yeah, no. It's just not her life.

01:31:48 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 2:

I used to camp when I was little. My dad used to take us camping all of the time. We camped in Canada, and then we would do Camp Dearborn, which I guess is more glamping because you're in, like, a tent that had bunk beds and stuff.

01:31:59 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 3:

Same, and I hated it. I'm good. I think it'd be dope. I think because especially, like, we've had Wes on a couple of times where he's talked about, like, the communication and I listen. I think this would be a good opportunity. Like, I'll be in a car for a couple of hours.

01:32:13 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 2:

But this is the whole trip, and I'm like.

01:32:16 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 3:

I think the sacrifice would be dope.

01:32:18 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea's not into RVs, and it's funny because I have said to her numerous times, like, I would love to do the RV thing. like Wes is doing, but I'm more so not wanting to sleep in the RV. I would rather do the RV, travel in the places, and then pull up in a parking lot of a hotel.

01:32:37 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 3:

What's the point of having an RV then?

01:32:39 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 4:

An RV to me is for tailgating. At a Michigan state game or something.

01:32:45 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 3:

Live a little. Come on, man. Eat the beans out the can.

01:32:49 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine?

01:32:50 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 3:

Come on, man. Get the Bush's baked beans.

01:32:53 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine Shannon hanging with Wes and Kieran and they got the can on there and they're like oh yeah

01:33:01 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 3:

for a weekend he pulled out the banjo yeah

01:33:07 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you I don't know

01:33:10 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 2:

I was like you guys have so much time what

01:33:14 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 4:

so what is because I know you were just recently out west with your kids and you probably stayed at a hotel right so that was the deal does he look at that vacation as not fun or is he good to do both no he's he's totally good to do

01:33:28 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 2:

both okay so he's just more flexible than you are yeah yeah yeah he's just like very into this and he you know just keeps telling me that it would be so amazing to be in yellowstone and doing this and under the stars and i'm like oh man he was showing me all these like different like camping sites in like north carolina and stuff i'm like that that would be so perfect for you

01:33:46 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Michelle? Hi.

01:33:49 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:33:50 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

01:33:52 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, Shannon, I think you should give it a try. I was skeptical about the whole camping deal way back when. We ended up now, we have two RVs. These RVs have ceiling fans, fireplaces, air conditioning, mattresses.

01:34:08 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 4:

That's bougie.

01:34:09 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a hotel on wheels.

01:34:10 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 4:

So one of our very good friends does the RV thing and goes up north and does all the cities up north. They pulled the RV in our driveway to stay the night with us because they were driving through town. And their RV did that whole thing, Michelle, where the wall popped out. That ain't no joke. That is like a full-on living room.

01:34:33 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 1:

Ours has five slide outs. We also have an enclosed trailer that we drag behind our RV that we put. It's like glamping. I mean, I have lights hanging. I have liquor furniture, rugs. That's amazing. You should buy it. It's absolutely amazing.

01:34:49 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 2:

Anything that ends in amping, I'm going to politely pass on.

01:34:53 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 4:

You know how Mike and Allie do their thing?

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

And they love it, and I love that for them. It's just not my thing.

01:34:59 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 6:

Did Allie always love it? I don't know. Or did she have to come around?

01:35:03 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 7:

I think Allie was just a good sport at first, and then I think it just became something fun. And they did the pop-up thing, and then I saw that Mike recently, I think, is not.

01:35:11 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, they have an RV now.

01:35:13 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they've got something now.

01:35:14 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 4:

Like a big boy.

01:35:15 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but they initially had the trailer pop-up. What's up? How you doing, Valerie?

01:35:21 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I was just wondering what she means by our camping, RVing. I just heard the last guest. We have two slide outs. We have please die bad. We have shower, we have full-size refrigerator, full-size stove, it's TV in both parts of the...

01:35:37 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 7:

Shannon wants a spa. Do they have a spa there that you can go?

01:35:40 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 4:

Free coffee in the lobby every morning from 7 to 10.

01:35:43 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 3:

You know, you can park in San Diego and Waterview, there's your park. I mean, it doesn't get any better.

01:35:50 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 7:

What is that general RV? I always wanted to do advertisements for them and see if they would trade me one of those RVs for like a summer. It would be such a fun... Would you use it?

01:35:59 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 3:

Let's do a show RV trip.

01:36:01 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 7:

I would love to have it as a show vehicle for a summer, and we go and specifically do that. That boy would be in the parking lot.

01:36:07 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 3:

That would be good. I'm location. Yeah. Right.

01:36:09 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 7:

Come on. Oh, that'd be incredible. What's up, Bruce? What'd you say?

01:36:14 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on, y'all? What's going on, y'all? What up, Bruce? All I could do is just picture. What up, though? Hey, all I could do is picture. Shanna, y'all remember Dennis the Minutes when the guy came out there on the campfire eating the beans? Yes. That's all I could do is picture Shanna eating them beans. Bro, that's exactly what I was channeling.

01:36:31 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:36:32 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 6:

Bro, that's so funny.

01:36:34 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 4:

My dad, if he's listening, he's so disappointed in me right now because that was my childhood. Like, he taught me how to, you know, pee in the woods. Do the fire. Yes, do the tent, cook over the fire, all the things.

01:36:46 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 7:

Mackenzie, what's going on?

01:36:48 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:36:49 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 1:

First time, long time.

01:36:50 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mackenzie, on the phone.

01:36:52 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 1:

um so the first time i had gone camping with my boyfriend at the time um i was nine months pregnant and we camped in a tent um a torn it was like a big storm came a tornado landed um like a mile away and then my son came three days later oh my god you are a saint you're a saint and he

01:37:17 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 7:

is a moron why would he do that to his pregnant girlfriend at the time they both were i don't know

01:37:22 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

but i mean it was a good time we camp all the time now we take our son but yeah that was my

01:37:27 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 7:

first in a tent though do you guys you guys don't all stay in a tent now do you yeah we do we take

01:37:32 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 1:

um we sleep on like an airman and then we bring his pack and play a tent is for the backyard for

01:37:39 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 7:

for when your kids have sleepovers and they want to stay outside and then they're outside for four hours and come in come right back in uh texter here says shannon should watch the madison have you ever watched the madison at all no it's the michelle pfeiffer show you got to watch it it's uh from the yellowstone guy that uh that crater but it's she's a big bougie new york person who ends up going out west and has to leave in a cabin that has nothing uh because of a family thing

01:38:04 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 4:

bless you what was that okay i got that tone actually and she looked at it that was i sneezed

01:38:09 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 1:

And I shut my mic off.

01:38:11 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 6:

I like how she looked at it. That's the real one right there.

01:38:14 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 7:

Anything there at all?

01:38:15 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:38:15 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 7:

What's going on, Nikki?

01:38:17 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 6:

She was yellow as a...

01:38:18 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I'm laughing at the Madison that does kind of change the perspective. No, I am with Shannon. We have property up north that my husband will go. We have a camper on it and everything, but I won't go. It's both. I don't want to camp. There's a full bathroom and everything up there, but I would rather go on a cruise or go to an all-inclusive resort with my girlfriend. and let him go stay up there. I'm with you on that.

01:38:42 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 7:

To me, well, it's funny. Chelsea will not go on a cruise, but I want to go somewhere where it's endless drinks and somebody's serving them to me and a food buffet.

01:38:52 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 5:

That is a vacation.

01:38:53 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 7:

You know?

01:38:53 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I don't want to camp. Yeah.

01:38:57 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 7:

Man, you and I should be married, Nikki. We'll travel.

01:39:02 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 5:

We will on occasion, too, because it's fun to, like, poke on a campfire. So when we were having our kitchen remodeled, we did what's called a camping breakfast where we would cook breakfast on a campfire, but we still were home. So, you know, we still had all the luxury of being home, but we were having the fun cooking on the campfire.

01:39:19 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 7:

Izzy's also with you, Shannon. Izzy, you're not into camping?

01:39:23 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 2:

I am not into camping at all. I absolutely hate camping and I'm a nanny and the family I nanny for absolutely loves camping and they have the huge RV and everything like that. do you nanny with them on trips no that's my one thing is i refuse i will not go camping with them i'll do the boat i'll do the hunting i'll do all of that but it's something about sleeping outside with the bugs and living off the land when you don't have to yeah yeah do you ever do they ever

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 7:

bring you with and then put you in a hotel and then you watch the kids at the hotel no

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 4:

that's just like inevitable it's just like a non non you're on vacation when they're on

01:40:05 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 2:

vacation yes exactly did you ever try and had a bad experience or you just was like nah you know

01:40:13 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 4:

i have i grew up camping my whole life and like like when i was younger we would me and my dad would camp in the backyard and everything too but i just i've always hated it i've always hated bugs and that's just

01:40:26 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 1:

that's the thing. Wow. I get it. Listen, can you imagine if part of your job was, Tony Travato said, because that's really her job, yeah, you gotta go camp this weekend. I gotta be like, no.

01:40:39 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 2:

It's not like she's doing it for the Richies.

01:40:42 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, the Richies, those Richies, the Richie Rich family right there doesn't like to stay in hotels on vacation.

01:40:48 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 2:

They got the camper, they got the push-out, like the lady called two-bear room TV, that ain't

01:40:52 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 1:

camping. That, come on. That's a vibe.

01:40:55 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 2:

That's a mansion on wheels. That's easy living. It's air conditioning there.

01:40:59 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 1:

What if I get that stomach virus that makes me have to crap for a few days? I got to crap in the same place that you're going to be sitting in?

01:41:06 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

I'm probably crapping, too. Yeah. I don't know.

01:41:09 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:41:10 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Michigan's most listened to podcast is the Mojo in the Morning Show. Hard to believe, huh? Download the podcast and listen on our free iHeartRadio app.

01:41:18 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning.

01:41:20 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 3:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:41:23 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 1:

If you do not get a call back after you went on a date, then I want you to do this. I want you to text DATE to 95500, and we will find out what exactly is going on, why you're not getting a call back. Try to get you an answer. Ava went out on a date, and she is not getting a call back. Ava, how you doing?

01:41:46 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm doing okay.

01:41:48 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

Ava, I want you to say hi to Ryan.

01:41:54 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:41:58 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Ryan, are you there, or did you ghost us, too? No, no, I'm here. I'm here. Okay, all right. All right. So, Ava, you went out with Ryan. He's not calling you back. We ended up reaching out to him to ask him to come on the radio with us. Do you want to say hello or see what's going on?

01:42:17 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I'm glad he's answering your calls.

01:42:19 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 3:

i i i don't know what you want me to say to that honestly like

01:42:25 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 1:

what's it's just kind of weird what what'd you guys do on your date what did you do ava we went to a bar okay and then just had drinks and hung out with each other for a while how long was your date for how long were you guys together a few hours okay and at the end of the date what did you guys do did you kiss goodbye say goodbye what'd you do there was kissing okay that's it and did you say anything like hey we'll talk soon or did he say that

01:42:59 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 5:

i mean things progressed and there's more than just kissing but i'll say oh it's kind of implied that we would see each other again did you guys end up having sex with each other No.

01:43:14 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so it was just more than kissing. Ryan, are you not interested or are you just, you know, kind of non-committed right now?

01:43:26 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 3:

So, like, the whole thing is she was just really up in my business. And I was not really comfortable with that.

01:43:35 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 2:

Was it questions that she was asking you?

01:43:36 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 3:

Is that what you mean? I mean, that's, yeah, she was asking me one question. just over and over again

01:43:43 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 6:

and just kind of stuck it by. And you weren't answering it. What question?

01:43:47 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 3:

Because it's weird. You kept asking me what my body count was. Like, she asked me over and over and over again, what's my body count? Like, we're kissing. She stops. What's my body count? And she said, you know...

01:44:02 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 6:

I just, I feel like I deserve to know that if I'm going to be sleeping with you. So, I don't think that's weird.

01:44:09 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Ava, you literally, like just kept stopping like we're kissing and then you asked me what body count is and then we you know get a little past that you asked me what body count is and you know it's our first date like I find it disrespectful

01:44:21 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 1:

you were not wanting to share that and she felt like you were holding back on her so she kept asking you and you thought that she needed to let it go

01:44:31 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 3:

look yes that's exactly what I was saying and look I'm clean I'm responsible I'm not

01:44:39 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 6:

Okay, but how am I supposed to know that if you're not going to give me information?

01:44:43 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 4:

But him telling you his number isn't going to tell you if he is clean.

01:44:48 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 6:

I think they deserve to know if he's, like, sleeping around with, like, a whole bunch of women, you know?

01:44:53 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's our first date. I'm not, like, trying to, you know, commit to you right away. And on top of that, like I said,

01:45:00 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 6:

told you on the date i'm not like you know some slut i'm not i'm not that kind of guy so that

01:45:08 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 2:

that's that is actually interesting that you say that you're not a slut because i would think that a guy being asked by his body count that doesn't want to admit to it is not admitting to it because he slept with a bunch of women it might be that the body count wasn't that high and maybe maybe that's why you didn't say it or what was the reasoning of why you wouldn't answer it yeah why

01:45:31 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 6:

wouldn't you answer it thank you oh my gosh because it's personal and i know i know i understand

01:45:36 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 2:

listen i don't care what your body count is and i don't think that it matters anyway but what was it what was the thing that was so turned off about that like when she first asked you in the beginning because typically if if you just ask some people that question some people are either hey i'll tell you 25 whatever the deal is and then there are some people that are like that is just so personal to me and i don't want to talk about that and i always wonder what is their issue with the the question is their issue because the number's way high and they're ashamed by that or is the issue that their number's way low and they feel like they're embarrassed by that you know what i mean who keeping count like that well i that's okay i hear you you are keeping count

01:46:21 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 3:

no look that's not what i'm saying at all i mean like no no no no bro i done forgot like i it ain't like five to where i can just immediately be like how about this year leticia how about this year or this month let's talk to them that's what this is about oh you and ryan are the same kind of guy i don't have a notes page in my phone where i'm jotting down everybody's name like i just don't operate like that the my chart is clean that's what matters the most yeah but what happens if something came up and then you had to like notify then i guess i would do all of that but right now to my chart clean and i'm worried about tomorrow not yesterday you can kind of put a guesstimate

01:46:57 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 2:

to something like this and just throw out whatever he obviously was not going to do it and it's his reasoning you know is that he just doesn't want to be asked that question um i would have probably dropped it ava at that moment and i just like if we're fooling around like it's kind of implied

01:47:17 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 7:

that that's where things are headed next and i think that i deserve to know that answer before

01:47:21 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 1:

i decide to be number 217 like i don't know but if that is so so so important to you 17

01:47:29 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 6:

and and it looks like my number is not look look i'll give you like a rough estimate like i'm i'm not i'm not like that high i'm not like wilt chamberlain over here just sleeping with any girl i could get you know i'm i'm i'm i'm in the double digits but i'm not like high double digits And, again, I would have had that conversation if we had kept dating. But, you know, I'm clean.

01:47:52 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 2:

You just said that now. Why would you not just say that then, though?

01:47:56 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

01:47:56 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Like, no, I'm not trying. I'm just asking, like, if you said it just now, I'm in double digits, but not, like, what made?

01:48:05 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 6:

Because she was very insistent. Like, what's your number? What's your number? Not like, oh, you know.

01:48:10 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 3:

She probably got the higher number to him.

01:48:12 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 2:

I think the tone that you guys have with each other make me think that there's nothing. but i i don't know if they i don't know what your tone was when you guys were talking to each other

01:48:20 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 1:

because i understand there was a point in my life where that i was concerned with that like i didn't want to date somebody that had you know been with 200 other women like that definitely was like a reputation that i kind of wanted to avoid but at the same time like you are already in a situation where you're about to have sex with this guy and this this is like a very much a priority to you yeah so i just think that the timing was interesting kayla what's up hey so i think

01:48:50 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 4:

body count does not matter at all especially when it comes to trying to decide like if someone's clean or not yeah because i have upwards of 50 bodies and i've never caught anything but my partner only has like eight bodies and he's caught something before so the number doesn't matter it's

01:49:11 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 3:

who you're having it with it only take one time can we also stop saying body count god i hate that

01:49:16 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

so much i really do yeah it's so like gross to me what do we say do we say how many people have

01:49:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 1:

you had sex with yeah just refer to that body count just sounds so like yeah

01:49:29 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 5:

what's going on how you doing holly hi um i was basically saying the same thing the last caller just said um but also i feel like um that was bad timing like really bad timing and you don't know when you're gonna catch something if that's what she's worried about

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

it could be number one or number 300 when is the right timing if you're planning on wanting to have sex with somebody it's

01:50:00 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 5:

she was that concerned about it maybe she should have said something at the bar well i think that's

01:50:06 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 2:

where she was saying it so i think i think the whole night that they were together for three hours she asked a question a few times according to what they were saying um maybe you don't do it and don't ask that question until a couple of dates in and then you decide whether or not you guys want to take it to that level what's up wendy hi if she's thinking about sleeping with

01:50:27 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 3:

him on the first date she should probably assume that he has a fairly high body count and she

01:50:33 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 2:

probably does too yeah let me ask that ava what is the uh did you give him your body count when he wouldn't give yours or or his i wasn't going to disclose first oh so you want sorry what what if you guys both did it at the same time ready one two three you know what was a magical number

01:50:55 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 1:

to you like what was the line where he if he said you know this is the number you needed it to be

01:51:02 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 5:

low to be below or whatever what do you hope is no i mean i would hope that we are in the same

01:51:08 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 2:

ballpark um but how old are you ava in 26 so so what would be a by a ballpark for a 26 year old

01:51:19 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to answer that until he answers that

01:51:23 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer wants to comment what's up Jennifer

01:51:27 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 5:

good morning guys all the time long time but I never got a shout out

01:51:32 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 2:

tell us your body count first say now Jennifer on the phone

01:51:37 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 5:

yay thanks guys I don't view this as a body count issue what I'm hearing is it's a boundaries issue he has boundaries that he has not doesn't sound like was able to communicate clearly at the time and she's not picking up boundaries she doesn't either she doesn't understand how to go about finding them out so this is a boundaries issue he has a boundary with what she's asking and she's not picking up on that and she just keeps at it and if this is an issue with boundaries it will continue to be an issue with boundaries put a bow on it say goodbye and go your different ways there you go

01:52:13 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 2:

i can i also say i wonder what her tone was when she was doing it and if her tone was how she is now then it came across hard or if her tone was joking because sometimes you joke a little bit and go come on tell me i really want to know and if that's the case and you get really upset by that then you're probably taking it way too far but uh eric comment from you let's get a guy's

01:52:35 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 4:

perspective on this eric oh absolutely so yeah no mojo you kind of hit the nail on the head with something that that you already said something that i'm about to say um and i'm just wondering like why she was so persistent on like the first day understanding that why is she so eager to bake the cookies or bake the cookies and understand how many people that he's been with why can't that be a third fourth or fifth day thing why do you have to why do you have to be so eager to get

01:53:01 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 2:

with him part of me wonders if ava you were just doing it and at first not realizing that you were upsetting him or did you notice that he became irritated i mean i didn't realize that it was

01:53:12 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 5:

as big of a deal to him as it was i made it clear obviously i would not have fallen in

01:53:18 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 4:

i mean after the third time didn't you kind of pick up a hint right i mean like three strikes

01:53:25 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 2:

and you're out like baseball how about the sixth time okay listen i i got a feeling that there's no chemistry between the two of you and if you guys did have sex it probably wouldn't be good so hey they got that far we we um we've probably got an answer for ava but unfortunately i don't think that there's going to be any more relationship issues uh or that you guys can work out with each other so go your separate ways and go enjoy yourself thank you ryan for picking up the phone

01:53:54 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 4:

call yeah yeah and best of luck ava just don't ask the next guy this

01:53:58 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 2:

01:56:14 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 4:

hated messi is i thought messi was beloved so i thought he was beloved there was a poll that came out and they asked, who is your most loved player in the World Cup? Who is your least favorite? The most favorite for Messi was like less than 40%. As far as most hatred or who do you hate the most, he was almost 50%. It was pretty interesting.

01:56:39 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 6:

Who was the most loved player?

01:56:41 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 4:

The most loved player was the dude that was on Holland. The Norway guy.

01:56:47 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. Okay. Real quick, USA Basketball has named Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff as an assistant coach for Team USA. So big congrats to him this morning. Legendary pilot Captain Sully Sullenberger revealing he has Alzheimer's disease.

01:57:07 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 2:

He was the hero who somehow landed a passenger plane on the Hudson River, saving everyone on board after a bird strike took out the engines. Captain Chesley Sullenberger's bravery would later be portrayed on the big screen by Tom Hanks.

01:57:20 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 6:

This is the captain. Brace for impact.

01:57:24 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 2:

But now, the pilot nicknamed Sully, whose bravery inspired the world, is on a new mission, sharing his Alzheimer's diagnosis. Sullenberger, now 75, says the disease is in its early stages, saying, It is my hope that by sharing this, other families living in the shadows with this disease will feel they, too, can step forward. Courage can be contagious. More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's dementia and while there are treatment options to delay or manage

01:57:51 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

symptoms, there is no cure. Although memory problems can be found in various types of dementia, short-term memory loss is the defining symptom of Alzheimer's disease. The concern is when it's disruptive and when it's progressive and when it's persistent. Those are the key things that you look for when we're talking to patients about their symptoms. There is encouraging news in the field

01:58:10 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 2:

of research. Just yesterday researchers announced a promising experimental drug that may help slow early stage Alzheimer's and cognitive decline by lowering levels of a brain protein called tau. It works by targeting the mechanism that normally produces tau in the body. This is the first study. I think we have a really encouraging signal. Hope is what Captain Sully is focusing on saying though it may impact my memory of the past. This diagnosis will not prevent me from looking forward to and appreciating our future.

01:58:43 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 4:

It's a horrible disease. Anybody that has family that is dealing with that or dealt with that is just awful. Sully was amazing. I mean, that movie was perfect. I don't think I've seen the movie with Tom Hanks. Oh my God, it was an amazing movie. You should watch it. You never saw Sully?

01:59:00 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 5:

Isn't it just called Sully? I was more of a flight guy.

01:59:02 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen Sully. Sully was a much better pilot than Denzel was.

01:59:07 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 5:

No, Denzel did it while he was drunk. and still say it in people.

01:59:11 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 4:

Sully saved their ass on the water. Denzel would have. He was drunk and still saved the people. He would have landed and gone to the bar. But go watch that movie. Both of you guys watch that movie.

01:59:24 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 6:

I literally just put it on my list.

01:59:25 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 4:

And knowing it's a true story is amazing.

01:59:27 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. And lastly, imagine getting your brand new license plate in the mail, pulling it out and realizing it is naughty. That just happened to a Florida woman. And I didn't know I was getting a plate.

01:59:40 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 1:

When Nancy Delostritto went to collect her mail, she got quite the surprise, a new license plate with her vehicle registration renewal.

01:59:49 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 2:

And I looked at it, and I said, I don't think so.

01:59:52 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

The plate reads SQZ A55, but from a distance, those 55s can be...

02:00:00 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 3:

read as s's well you get the picture squeeze blank i don't think a woman that lives in a senior

02:00:09 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

community that's going to be 77 years old next month will be driving around with what this plate

02:00:16 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 3:

has to say the plates become the talk around her retirement community especially the men we were with her when she showed it to one of her 89 year old neighbors and this is what i received

02:00:28 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 4:

from the DMV for my new license plate. That's good for 10 years. Good. Good?

02:00:34 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 1:

That was good.

02:00:35 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 4:

That's what he said.

02:00:36 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 8:

That was good.

02:00:37 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that such a great story? That is hilarious. Hey, if you miss anything from today, you can always catch up on the podcast anytime for free on the iHeartRadio app.

Was her ass squeezable, though? Do we know? She's probably not.

02:00:48 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 3:

She's probably not. She's a minute. She's a bit into the back of her.

02:00:50 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 5:

Miss something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

02:00:55 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 6:

By the way, speaking of old people, Shannon is an old lady in the five lies to tell your mom coming up this morning and kind of sounds like that old lady with these squeeze ass license plates. Kind of, yeah. Would you squeeze Shannon's ass? That's a weird question. Let's ask the guys in the nursing home. What's going on, Dina? Are you there, Dina? I'm here. Dina, you're a winner. Congratulations. Yeah, Dina! Oh, my gosh. Thank you. Summer of cars, cash, and gas. You got a $50 gas card to Kroger, courtesy of Kroger Delivery, and you're now qualified from Gordon Chevrolet, GordonChevrolet.com. Their selection is unbelievable right now, and they are offering unbelievable lease payment prices and 0% financing. So why not get into Gordon Chevrolet today? A brand-new car. Would you take the car or would you take the cash?

02:01:53 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 8:

I would probably take the cash.

02:01:55 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 6:

Okay, $20,000. You don't need a car. What do you drive?

02:01:59 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 8:

I do need a car, but so does everybody else in my family, so I would probably buy a couple used ones. That's a good plan.

02:02:07 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 6:

Actually, I bet you Mike would work something out if that was the case. Mike would probably say to you, you know what? You don't want it? I got an idea here. And I bet you you'd probably make out on that, too. So get it.

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I need air conditioning in my car.

02:02:19 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Man.

02:02:20 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 8:

God, especially right now.

02:02:21 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 6:

Today especially. Hang on the phone and we'll get your information, okay?

02:02:26 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 8:

All right, thank you.

02:02:27 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 6:

All right, we love you for listening. Appreciate you so much. We should actually ask that question again. Lydia, let's ask that question. Who's not dealing with, who's got no AC today? Driving around, what kind of car is it with no AC?

02:02:42 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 8:

It's a 2016 Dodge Caravan with almost 190,000 miles.

02:02:46 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, and the AC went on you. That sucks. When a car is that, you know, many miles on it, the A.C. doesn't seem like it's working anyway, right? It, like, pumps out hotter.

02:02:57 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 7:

Dog, I rode with one of the homies. Bro, air condition only work on his side. The heat is on on the other side. I'm in a passenger seat like, dog. At first, I couldn't feel like the... I'm like, no, I really don't feel it. Boy, I got in there the second time after we went to Five Below. Dog, I'm to my house. Sticking your head out the window. Sweltering. It was so hot.

02:03:21 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 6:

844 Mojo Live, call us up if you're in a bad, no AC position and Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish wants to help you, gets you some air conditioning, a little mobile air conditioning unit for you.

02:04:20 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 6:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Yeah. Hot and her. Give a little bit of give a little bit of I was like good gracious ass is bodacious Kat's grandma has no air conditioning.

02:04:37 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 1:

Look how

02:04:38 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 7:

His face just dropped. You're going to chill on my grandma.

02:04:41 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 6:

You're a horrible grandson. You're going to chill on my grandma. Should we call her and check in? Can we call her?

02:04:46 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you right now, you better not be talking spit about my grandma. I'm talking spit about you.

02:04:50 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 3:

Your grandma and your mom Lisa today.

02:04:53 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 6:

If your grandma was my grandma, she would be living in my house in her own room.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 4:

If my grandma was your grandma, she'd be dead.

02:05:05 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 3:

What makes you say that? Don't play with my grandma. Would she be dead because you killed her? Because you wouldn't give her any air conditioning?

02:05:13 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 4:

I don't know how your grandma died. I don't know. I'm not going to say that.

02:05:15 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 3:

Your grandmother deserves air conditioning. She's been on this planet for 95. She doesn't want it. She does.

02:05:20 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 4:

You know how many people in the family have tried to give her an air condition? Have tried to do all that? She doesn't want this, bro. Sometimes you can't ask. You just do. Yeah. Well, y'all do it then. Y'all so invested. Put y'all money where y'all mouth is. How much do you care?

02:05:34 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, how much does, Lydia just found one, an air conditioning unit. How much did the one cost that you bought?

02:05:41 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 5:

It's about $170,000.

02:05:43 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 3:

$170,000?

02:05:44 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 5:

Is that like a window one or a floor one? It was a window one.

02:05:47 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 3:

So it's a window one. Can we, is there any way that we can double that and get one for a listener and one for Kev's mom?

02:05:55 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely.

02:05:56 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 3:

Or grandma, and then we'll have our new engineer, Andy, go install it. Actually, we'll call Randy, the old engineer, and say, Randy, we've got one last thing we need you to do.

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 4:

Break your golden screwdriver.

02:06:08 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second here. Cheyenne, are you there, Cheyenne?

02:06:12 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm here.

02:06:13 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 3:

Poor Cheyenne. Listen to this, man. It's going to feel like 103 degrees today, humidity blasting, and what do you got going on?

02:06:22 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 2:

100 degrees with a broken air compressor i've been actually trapped in the house all week

02:06:31 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 3:

oh my gosh not going anywhere so you're this is your car obviously with the compressor right oh yeah yeah so so you you're staying home because you don't even need to go outside

02:06:42 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 2:

yeah we're not even going outside this week no this is like you know how we take snow days off

02:06:50 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 3:

and, like, people get off from work for snow, this is like that.

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

It's his day.

02:06:54 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:06:55 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 2:

He did.

02:06:56 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 4:

That's what I was on. When we had that July 4th week off, and that was the first week of just straight 90s, I only got left the house the first three days.

02:07:04 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:07:04 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 4:

For what? To go check on your grandma with no air conditioning. I'm on a boat. You got one more chance.

02:07:11 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my house has four air conditioners, actually.

02:07:15 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 3:

Man, yeah, crank that up. I would put all four on there. Although, she's not eligible for the unit. You're right, though. Lydia, she's got four. She's got four.

02:07:25 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 4:

Hey, look, you ain't lying, though. I ain't going over this. I know you didn't. No, I didn't. I was at the house, watching Netflix. No shirt on, drawers on, chilling with the cool air. Like, Grandma probably hot as hell. Did you at least call her? All right, Grandma probably hot as hell. I know Grandma hot as hell. Oh, my God.

02:07:44 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 5:

That's what she be on, though. She doesn't want to go. Grandma sits on the couch and chills naked with her Netflix on.

02:07:50 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

She might. Let him hang. She's there watching news at 11.30, noon, 2 o'clock. She watch news on the ground. It ain't nothing happened. It's the same news all day.

02:07:59 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 3:

What news does she watch?

02:08:01 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Everybody. So she's local four, two, seven, switches. Then, you know what I'm saying, she is sitting in type of lady, too. She likes it. Rachel Maddow. She used to watch Joy. Wolf Blitzer. She watched the whole thing.

02:08:16 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 3:

till midnight dominic dominic who you talking to oh hey oh i was talking to my ups buddies uh

02:08:25 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 1:

talking about how we don't have ac in the ups truck that's why y'all doors are open that's why the doors are open it makes sense now in the back in the back of the trucks get like 20 degrees hotter so it's like that's insane i don't know if it's 100 out you know these days

02:08:41 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 3:

are rough buddy i i i don't know how you guys do it i really don't i in in this modern age where ups is you know delivering a million and one packages why would they not buy vehicles i would

02:08:55 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 4:

i'd quit and go work at amazon let me tell you this ups reported an annual revenue of 88 billion dollars last year and you tell me y'all can't put air conditioning in the trucks it's crazy i think

02:09:06 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 5:

they think it's pointless. All the other ones have AC, right? The mail trucks,

02:09:13 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 3:

the FedEx. No, the mail ones don't either.

02:09:15 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 5:

My mail lady doesn't. Okay, they got some new mail trucks in my neighborhood. I'm sure they have AC. They look like spaceships.

02:09:21 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 3:

You're in a bougie area, so that's...

02:09:23 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the Amazon trucks? Yeah, they're all electric. And the new mail trucks, I think, do.

02:09:27 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 3:

The mail trucks look like spaceships.

02:09:28 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to take a picture. I'll show you what I'm talking about.

02:09:30 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 3:

My mail lady, the poor lady, she is so nice. First off, she gets sad when I answer the door because she likes to talk to Chelsea. But this poor lady, man, she is sweating like a hoe in church.

02:09:45 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 2:

I love when they wear their shorts.

02:09:47 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Madison?

02:09:49 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I've been driving my 2016 Ford Edge with no AC for years. Ever since a deer decided to run into me, I did not run into the deer. And it broke your AC?

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I've paid $800 three separate times to get it fixed, and they keep saying it's something different, and now they're telling me it's $1,200, and I'm not paying that. So I'm just sweating.

02:10:08 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. Man, I don't know. I'd pay the $1,200. No, it's a scam.

02:10:14 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 6:

It's a scam. I paid the $800 like three or four times. I've paid the $1,200, and next year I have to do it again.

02:10:19 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 4:

What kind of vehicle did you say it was again?

02:10:22 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 6:

It's a 2016 Ford Edge.

02:10:23 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Go to Gabara. Steve Gabara, Zod Ford. Tell Zod Ford to help you. They won't scam you, okay?

02:10:31 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 2:

If you can, share your number with Lydia, and I'll get you with Steve and the gang. We'll take care of you.

02:10:36 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. See, he's going to help Madison, but he won't help his grandma. I'm trying to help my grandma. All right, fat man. He's helping Madison. Shut up.

02:10:43 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 3:

Listen.

02:10:45 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 4:

You need another sleep exam. 24-year-old Madison. Hey, you're skating on thin water. Or thin ice. Wait, what? Never mind. It would be water. He's got one more chance. It's not going to melt in this weather. What's going on? How are you doing, Mike? I'm calling Chelsea.

02:11:00 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 1:

What's up? Hey, good morning, Mojo fam. What's up, man? What's going on? Hey, yeah, I have both a car and a house with no AC. Dude, this is high choice. Like, with the car, it's just like an A to B. And, like, as you get going, just like with the mail carriers and the UPS, you roll with your windows down. Or with the UPS, you roll with the doors open. Yeah. But, like, with the house, like, we have, like, when we're there or when we're not there, we have the windows open. When we're there, we have the doors open as well. And we have a couple fans. But, like, our AC, like, it just, like, it just, it feels like it cools. Like, it works all day. It's, like, one of those big, like, boxy, like, rectangular-looking AC units because we have, like, an older mobile home. So it runs all day. And it feels like it doesn't even cool. the house down where do you live uh chesterfield oh man i don't know this is yeah i live in a mobile home park um in chesterfield and it's an older home um it's probably like maybe like in the 70s it's got its issues but uh yeah i don't like the double whammy of car and home how many people you got in the home with you uh well we have me my son and my girl and then we have a dog a cat and we are just so worried about the pets uh like during the day because we have the doors closed and like there's no air on so we have like the windows and we're trying to create like like a current type of thing um like like with the fans but it just doesn't work and like we have a camera in the living room and we can just like see our dog just like laying down in front of the fan like just panting and everything and it just kills us what's a tough question and if you had

02:12:53 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 2:

to choose one pet to die right now would it be the dog or the cat listen i i by the way i would

02:13:00 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 4:

02:13:17 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 1:

That's a great one.

02:13:20 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 4:

Lydia Chesterfield. Actually, Chesterfield might not be a bad idea because that would be Lydia. That'd be on your way home. Hold on one second, Mike. We got it. Hold on a second.

02:13:33 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 3:

You did say cat, right? No. I think you said cat. Why don't you ask that question? I wanted to know.

02:13:40 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 4:

Here's what we're going to do.

02:13:41 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to ask you the same question. You've got three dogs, Shannon.

02:13:43 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 4:

Hold on.

02:13:43 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 3:

Pick one.

02:13:44 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 4:

We already know. Amanda, what did you want to say, Amanda?

02:13:48 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. Hi, Amanda. I listen to you every morning. I call you guys my coworkers.

02:13:54 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 4:

We love you. Thank you.

02:13:56 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 5:

We love you, too. So, Kev, if your grandma needs an AC unit, I'm out and about today, and I'm happy to pick one up for her and bring it out to you guys so that she's not hot. For sure.

02:14:07 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 2:

No, we ain't Easter Market, but look. He's got some Netflix to watch today, so he's busy. Shannon, you want some of this too? I'm not joking. Not a joke, I'm dead serious. We're in Easter Market, you drop it off. You're dead serious, she might be dead by this point. They say iHeartRadio on the building.

02:14:28 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 6:

Are you prepared to buy her for it?

02:14:29 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 2:

I got you. Hold on a second.

02:14:32 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 6:

I'll pay for it, I'll drop it off. I'm not turning down no blessings. Lisa, what are you calling for? I'm calling to give Kev's grandma an air conditioner as well. Let's do it. Let's do it. Everybody wants to help your grandma. Grandma. I replaced the compressor. I bought three units I got stuck with. Well, listen.

02:14:50 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

So what we'll do is we'll give another one to another family that we have call in. And then one will go to my grandma and one will go to somebody else.

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Listen.

02:15:00 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 2:

Listen, Lisa and Amanda, you have no idea what Kev's grandma looks like, sounds like, I don't even know her name, and you're willing to help her. This woman helped raise this guy, make him the guy who he is today, turned him on to sports because she loves sports so much. And he is this, ah, she's okay.

02:15:23 - 02:15:48 | Speaker 3:

Why aren't you buying her an air conditioning unit? Why are we strangers doing it? Ask that question one more time. Why are the strangers offering to get your grandma an AC unit, but you're not after what Mojo just said? No shade, no shade. Wait, wait, wait. Did you just tune in? Or, like, where's all this energy coming from? I'm just messing with you, Kev. You know I love you. I love you, too. Pick up a round five. I just wanted to donate to her.

02:15:52 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 1:

Can you call her real quick? Kaji B. Can you just call her real quick? Bianca is out right now from now until 11 a.m. at Tim Horton's Farmington Hills, 12-mile Middle Belt. This is the Timmy's that we used to go to when we would come to the radio station in Farmington. She's at our old stomping grounds. So she's going to be there from 9 to 11, and she's giving away a bunch of prizes. Bianca is always fun to meet. I promise you she will treat you like your family. You'll probably be on social media. We can do promo events during the show? Bianca can. Oh, no, yeah. Oh, okay. I didn't know. So Bianca's doing them because guess what? It's either Bianca's out there or Jilly. And I think the listeners love Jilly, but they like Bianca. What's going on, Bianca?

02:17:26 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 3:

What up? We're out here at the Tim Horan's. It's actually on 12 and Farmington. I was actually, I was at the wrong location with 12 and Farmington. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Why are the pretty ones always so dumb? Man. Listen, that was a blonde move, but we're still out here. It's camp day. We got everyone. What's your name? My name is Donna. Donna? All right. You work for Tim Horan's? Yes. All right. What's the go-to order today for everyone? What? Coffee. Yeah, so 100% of the coffee proceeds today are all going towards the youth, right? Yeah. All right, we're out here. We're going to give out prizes. I'm about to go, like, harass the people in the drive-thru line.

02:18:05 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I don't think she's the spokesperson.

02:18:08 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 1:

Did she know you were going to answer? I don't think she's the spokesperson for Tim Horton. No, man, she had the shirt on. Very nice lady.

02:18:15 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 2:

No, I know. Very nice lady. Probably should not be the spokesperson for it. What? I'm in the drive-thru right now.

02:18:22 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 3:

What's up? What's your name, man?

02:18:23 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 1:

Hey, you want to be on the radio?

02:18:26 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 3:

Not today. We're going to go to the next time. They're all shaking their heads now at me. Oh, no. They just want their coffee. Do you want to be on the radio? No? No. Okay. Oh, no. What's up? We're all telling her no.

02:18:39 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 2:

What's up with the people in Farmington Hills and the Tim Hortons? Are they that angry? You want to be on the radio?

02:18:45 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

It's camp day. Come on. Oh, no. She's fine. You want to be on the radio? You look fine. Yeah. Oh, shoot. Oh, shoot. Wait, we got a listener in the driveway.

02:18:56 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 2:

All right. Farming.

02:18:57 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they got the key hat on and everything. What's your name? Janae. Janae, you're here for Camp Day Tim Warren? For a second, yeah. All right, Beth, what's your go-to order today? Go-to order is the coffee cream, like the coffee cake donut and a medium caramel cap. All right, Beth, you're a Mojo the Morning listener? Of course.

02:19:17 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Hey, did you say Janae or Jemay?

02:19:20 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 3:

Janae.

02:19:21 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Janae, it's Mojo. The people in the cars in front of you are all a-holes. I just want you to know that. Honk at them.

02:19:28 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 3:

You're the only one that would talk to me. He's a quiet a-hole, though.

02:19:31 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:19:34 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 3:

She's a real one, though. She got 955 right on her radio right there. I love you. Thank you.

02:19:40 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. You may have a real one. Get her a prize. Give her a prize for that says. What do we got?

02:19:44 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 3:

Buy her coffee. Hey, you like Louis Tomlinson? Yeah, she does? All right, we got them. Hey, we got the Burger King boys in the back, too. Hey!

02:19:54 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 2:

What are the... Wait. What? Burger King came over to Tim Hortons?

02:19:58 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

They had the Burger King crowd.

02:20:00 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 4:

on their head.

02:20:00 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I used to love those. Can I tell you the funniest is, when I was a little kid, I would wear, I wore one for a month. I loved that thing. I know. That was like my thing.

02:20:10 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 1:

They had them back then? Oh, yeah.

02:20:12 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 2:

You know what?

02:20:13 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know.

02:20:14 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 2:

He was probably Prince when he was wearing them. He was still alive, believe it or not. Burger King was still alive back then.

02:20:18 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 4:

I think we have the Tim Hortons spokesperson right here.

02:20:20 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 2:

There we go. Tim Hortons.

02:20:22 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 4:

All right. Yes. All right. Who do we got right now? Ashwat. Ashwat, all right. You are, are you the spokesperson person for Tim Hortons? I am the owner of the Tim Hortons. Thank you.

02:20:36 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Thanks for coming. Thanks for having Mojo in the morning out this morning. We appreciate you.

02:20:41 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 4:

We love you guys.

02:20:42 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 2:

We love you too. We want a bunch of people to get out to this Tim Hortons. So it's 12 Mile in Farmington where we're located, right? Yes, it is.

02:20:51 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 4:

Yes, 12 Mile in Farmington.

02:20:53 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 2:

And everybody come on out there. It's Camp Day at Tim Hortons. That's Bianca. Bianca, give Oshawa a big hug from Mojo, okay?

02:21:02 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 4:

She's like Caldean Batty out here, too.

02:21:04 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Thank you, guys. Thank you. I love you, too. We'll check back with you. Thank you so much. We'll check back with you in a little bit. Okay, Bianca? Thank you. All right.

02:21:14 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning. Five to me. Five to me.

02:21:17 - 02:21:17 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:21:18 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:21:20 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 2:

Terrence, we're going to do five lies to tell your mom and phone scam her. Are you ready? Yes, sir. I love it. Bianca, what are we doing?

02:21:29 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 1:

All right, so Terrence works at a nursing home, and we're going to pretend one of his patients got lost and is now on the loose. Grandma's on the road, baby. I love these.

02:21:40 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 2:

Has that ever happened, Terrence?

02:21:42 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Really? So, actually, we actually had a resident just walk out the front door just a couple days ago.

02:21:50 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and what do you do? Do you have to put, like, an all-points bulletin out? Is it like an – well, they don't call them Amber Alerts. Don't they call them something else? Well, usually they don't get too far.

02:22:00 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 3:

Usually we can catch them before they actually, like, leave the front yard. So they, you know, get a little, you know, two-second excursion. Silver alerts?

02:22:09 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, silver alerts. Yeah. So there's a silver alert. All right, here we go. You ready? These are the lies that you're going to have to tell your mom. Listen for these. Lie number one, you're going to have to say, Mom, I need your help. Lie number two.

02:22:22 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 1:

One of the patients left her room.

02:22:24 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 2:

Lie number three. She's trying to swim in the lake. Lie number four.

02:22:30 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Now she's getting naked. What do I do?

02:22:33 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 2:

And lie number five. Can you come here and try to stop her? Are we ready? I'm ready. By the way, if I was ever in a nursing home, for sure, I'm going to be all the older ladies in the other rooms.

02:22:48 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 3:

I thought you were going to say you would run away. Is there a lot of going on in the nursing home? No, we make sure not to, just because the majority of them are married.

02:22:59 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 2:

Any attempts, though? Oh, yeah, there's been a few. Oh, God.

02:23:04 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 3:

How far has it ever gotten? Almost penetration. Terrence.

02:23:12 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Call Grandpa Nakey. All right, here we go. We're calling up your mom for five lies to tell your mom.

02:23:23 - 02:23:28 | Unknown:

My mama, my mama, my mama, my mama, my mama, my mama.

02:23:31 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Hello? Yeah?

02:23:39 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mom. So, I need your help real quick. With what? So, I got called into work because one of my patients left her room and we couldn't find her. Um, and luckily I did just find her, but she's trying to swim in Wolf Lake and, uh, yeah. Oh God. She's, oh, she's getting naked now. I think, I think she's trying to take a bath. I don't know what to do.

02:24:08 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 4:

She's at the lake now?

02:24:10 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Um, uh, any, is there any chance that you can come here and try to stop her? I don't know what to do.

02:24:21 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hi, Ken.

02:24:26 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Where are you at right now?

02:24:29 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm at home.

02:24:32 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:24:33 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 4:

So, tell me where you're at at, Wolf, like, at the beach park?

02:24:41 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 3:

I am, no, so, hey, get out of the water. We're not swimming today. No, come here.

02:24:53 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Karen, you have to go and get her. You can't let her go.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you have your kids there?

02:25:04 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm at work.

02:25:07 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. I'm just, okay, I'm a little confused. Hi, Tara. Alexis is home? Yes. Hey, you've got to tell me just where you're at. I'm leaving right now.

02:25:26 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay, one second. Hey, get out of the water. Come here. No, no, no. Come here. Please come here. Don't go out that deep. Come here, please. Damn, you're slippery. Come here, please.

02:25:41 - 02:25:43 | Unknown:

Oh, my God, me, you f***er.

02:25:46 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't want to get wet. Come here, please. I'm in my scrub. Come on. Come here. Come closer.

02:25:53 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, make it fun. Not scary. Not like she did something wrong. Make it fun. Make her laugh to come to you.

02:26:05 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Do you want a cigarette? Hey, I got your cigarettes. Come here. If you come with me, I will give you a cigarette, and then we can go back to your room.

02:26:11 - 02:26:12 | Unknown:

Not a cigarette.

02:26:15 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

Come here, please. No, look, here. I got your cigarettes. You want one? Come on. Come closer to the shore. Come here.

02:26:27 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 1:

Mom?

02:26:28 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:26:29 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 1:

I feel bad she's in her car right now driving over to your work right now, Terrence. Mom, this is Mojo in the morning, and Terrence had you on five lies to tell your mom and was phone scamming you.

02:26:42 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

02:26:44 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi, who are you?

02:26:46 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 3:

Who is this?

02:26:48 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo, Mojo in the morning show.

02:26:52 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea what you're talking about.

02:26:56 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 1:

Terrence, explain to your mom what's going on.

02:26:59 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 2:

So it's a radio show, 104.5 WSNX. They do a segment called Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. And I inquired and I told them a little bit about my life and they gave me five lies to give you. And I had to make it believable so that you'd believe it in order to win a prize.

02:27:20 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 1:

It's so believable it got your mom to get in her car to come over and help you with this old lady.

02:27:25 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:27:27 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 1:

Mom. I'm almost at work. That just proves how good I'm at. Oh, my God. She's almost there. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Turn around. No, well, be safe. Be safe. We're driving.

02:27:36 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:27:38 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Mom, do you want to say hi to the lady that was in the water? Yeah. Want to say hi to her?

02:27:43 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. How you doing, Mom? She deserves an award. I can't do it anymore.

02:27:50 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 1:

That was so good, Shannon.

02:27:52 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I feel so bad that you started driving. I know.

02:27:57 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 1:

It's horrible. What a mom, though. Got right in the car. Unbelievable mom. Give it up for mom.

02:28:02 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 3:

No, mom. My son knows that I would do anything for my dad.

02:28:09 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 1:

I feel like, Terrence, your mom is who Shannon's trying to sound like. Terrence had you on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. He phone scammed you, and we're going to give you a prize, mom, for being around.

02:28:25 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mom.

02:28:32 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. Big, breaking, dirty. Shannon will have the full details in a second, but Steve Iserman, out. Out. No longer the general manager of the Detroit Red Wings. Shannon with all the details on that coming up in just a little bit on Mojo in the Morning. All right. So it's Mojo in the Morning show. And I think that everybody, when they start dating, they all change in some way, shape, or form. I think that you are so in love that things that you never thought that you would ever do, you start doing. And it's happening to two of my friends. And if I could talk about this for a second, I would like to do that. And I would like to use this opportunity also to allow you to tell us what is something you never thought you'd do, but you did it for love. I have two friends right now. You guys know both of them. I'm not going to say their names because they will get mad at me for saying this. But both of these friends are currently dating very beautiful women, okay? One of my friends, he just went out to the West Coast or West, where's Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Oh, yeah. Wyoming.

02:29:54 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:29:55 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

On a trip to Jackson Hole, where I found out that he was.

02:30:00 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 3:

hiking over the weekend what's bad about that this is a guy that the only uh walk he'll ever go on is 18 holes and it's usually golfing i have never in my life ever known this guy to ever go on a hike or hiking matter of fact he was dating a a very nice person who wanted him just to go to traverse city just to camp and the guy didn't do that he wouldn't do it but he went he's now hiking in Wyoming right now. Steve? I'm not going to say.

02:30:31 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it is. I'm not going to say. Wow. Good for you, Steve Gabara, and she's a catch anyway.

02:30:36 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to say, but I heard that he's hiking right now. Beautiful views. Okay? Then, last night, I spent time with another nameless friend.

02:30:47 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, you already named him earlier, but okay.

02:30:50 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

And this guy, this guy had, and I don't know if they're dating or if they're just friends or what the story is, but he's definitely in the early stages of hanging with this person because I've never met her before until last night, and when I met her for the very first time, I was like, wow, this guy can pull himself, you know, he's not bad. It was pretty good, and then he goes on to tell me that this weekend, he went to go see Luke Bryan, and in a week, he's going to see Morgan Wallen.

02:31:23 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't strike me as the country music fan.

02:31:25 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 3:

The nameless friend, Shannon, has never gone to a country concert in his life.

02:31:30 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 1:

I mean, those concerts are great concerts, but not for him.

02:31:34 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 3:

So I got friends. I got friends in low places where. Yeah, I love that song. By the way, I'd go to a country concert. I love country music. Actually, I became a country fan probably for the same reason. Chelsea's a country fan. But it's interesting to see that this does this to people. because I will and I'll tell you this I think that when you're when you're in love with somebody you start doing things you know what I mean yeah for sure like there's there are things that you'll get into like I remember when Chelsea and I first started dating I actually started exercising like I'm not you know I mean like and I can't remember what last as soon as as soon as I realized i got her i canceled the membership my membership ended at that moment but i saw this with guys uh that are into like yoga and stuff are there any guys that do pilates because i know a

02:32:31 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 2:

lot of women do pilates i took her boyfriend i don't know if uh bryce has continued it the only thing i feel like i've done for love and there's probably many other things i probably don't think of i don't know if i could say this so get the dump button right i know that i gotta dump that All right, I got to dump that. How about this? I started having... You know, you can't say that. I literally didn't.

02:32:52 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 3:

All right, hold on a second. I promise you I didn't.

02:32:53 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 2:

I thought how I said it was like an appropriate way to say it.

02:32:56 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 3:

He can say something that he's... Usually what I want to do is not what sexual act that you would perform. It was basically like a new hobby, like some kind of a hobby.

02:33:12 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 2:

That's where I started, and then I started to consider other things, but I started watching Grey's Anatomy consistently. Okay, so that's another one. I never in my life had ever seen a moment of Grey's Anatomy, but you're with somebody and they're in the room, you want to spend time with them, and all of a sudden I'm like, what is Meredith doing this episode? Are you all in at that point?

02:33:34 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 3:

I will say this. I see women do the same thing too. I just want you to know that this is not just guys doing this because I've seen some women take up golf because they're dating a guy. a couple of my single friends that have started dating and or have been dating all of a sudden they bring their girl and their girl suddenly is now miss, you know, golf.

02:33:53 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 1:

It's the only way they can see their man. I would say Wes, Wes is a very active person. And so he's really into like the kayaking and the biking and the hiking. And I definitely do way more of that now that we're married. The one thing I would caution is don't get into a relationship, a new relationship pretending that you like something for the other person because that has bit me in the butt so many times and I learned my lesson but I think I've told the story before of the guy I dated I just got into radio and he was like the night show DJ and I had the biggest crush on him and he was the biggest Wolverines fan of all time and so I was like oh yeah I was living in indianapolis and i'm like i'm from michigan i love ufm i love wolverine's football i knew nothing i'm sitting there like studying this stuff so that i could talk to him and then

02:34:45 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 3:

that's all he ever wanted to talk to me about jannon do you ever feel because i was this way with all my past relationships i always felt like i was morphing into what they liked more than they It would morph into or. you know, become what I wanted.

02:35:01 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:35:01 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever feel like you've done that?

02:35:02 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 2:

For sure. Is that a pick me? It's like, I just feel like you want, you want to like be like that person. I know I can look at photos. Like I just came up upon a box of like photo albums that my mom made me take from her house the other day and they're not dated, but I could tell you who I am dating in each of the photos just based on the way I look. Really? I'm dead serious because like when I was dating the musician, I was like, I'm like, It's like slightly emo. Interesting. Yeah.

02:35:32 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's interesting.

02:35:34 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 2:

That is wild. Like all the different faces. The eras. I could tell you exactly who I was dating at the time. You are Taylor Swift. Which is bad. The eras of Taylor. That's so bad.

02:35:41 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

What's another thing? Like you said, the Michigan Wolverine thing. But you said this happened a couple of times. You remember anything else that you did for a guy?

02:35:46 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 2:

I have to think for a second. But that one comes to mind because truly that's all he wanted to talk about then.

02:35:50 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, when you were married to the swimming guy, you actually learned how to swim.

02:35:54 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I tried. I wanted to learn how to swim because I was going to Hawaii on my honeymoon and I didn't want to wear a life jacket for everything, but I still wore a life jacket for everything.

02:36:04 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 1:

One of the last guys I talked to told me I need to learn how to cook, which probably I did need to learn how to, but I taught myself how to cook then. That's so chauvinist.

02:36:13 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 4:

For the guy to say you don't cook.

02:36:14 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't just like you need to learn how to cook, but he was like, what did you eat? I was like, oh, I ordered something. He's like, you don't cook? I was like, no, not really. He's like, you should probably learn how to do that.

02:36:23 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 4:

See, that was him just trying to make you better. wow as a person you told somebody that no I don't be telling these people how to cook hey Naya what's up

02:36:31 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 7:

hi look and then first thing I'm going to say is first time long yeah since middle school and I'm about to be graduating college I love it congrats but um yeah my comment is that I used to be a really bad nail biter like really bad I used to try and nail polish everything to make myself stop. Then I met my boyfriend. He likes getting his back stretched. So out of nowhere, I just stopped being a nail biter and I groomed my nails out. See, that's for the better.

02:37:06 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Naya.

02:37:08 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 3:

That I would be fine with. You know, that's a good situation.

02:37:12 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 4:

Now you got the nails.

02:37:13 - 02:37:30 | Speaker 3:

Hiking in Jackson Hole, Wyoming would probably not be. I was thinking about this with the two guys that I know. The fact that one went hiking is more interesting than the one going to a country concert, but the country concert one is pretty off the wall when you think about it.

02:37:30 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 4:

Boy, boy doing a lot out there, and we love to see it.

02:37:34 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 3:

I know. Look at that. Look at that picture of him. Lindsay, what's going on, Lindsay?

02:37:39 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

02:37:41 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 3:

Hi. What's happening?

02:37:43 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 5:

So the things that we do for love, right? My boyfriend joined a Harley club, So I am along for the ride now. Oh, my God. Oh, that's a big one.

02:37:54 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Would you be into being in a Harley club?

02:37:58 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:37:58 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 3:

So you are riding with him?

02:38:03 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:38:04 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's wild. It's funny because I got, you know, friends that start watching football. Their girl starts watching football. Jumping on a big old hog is a little different, right?

02:38:15 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 7:

Mm. Well, ew.

02:38:19 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 3:

zach have you changed for your girl that you're dating anything that she's into that you're now faking it um i don't know on my side but definitely i got her into wrestling oh poor girl oh no it melts my heart she's into the theatrics of it so by the way when i walk by you talking with cody from marketing over there and you guys nerd out on it you guys like i love hey guess who's coming to town it's slamming sammy you know you know him who was the guy that you said to jay jay you'll never guess who's coming javon evans was in javon yeah he was sweet

02:38:59 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 6:

02:39:20 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 2:

shaking her head no right now dude wes was watching lord of the rings as i was falling asleep last night and i which i've never seen i'm like what is this crap no i think too as you're like in a relationship and get older you're like you go ahead and do your own thing and i'm gonna

02:39:37 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 3:

go ahead and do mine that's the one thing i was i'll say this about my wife my wife does not do anything that I like she she'll golf with me because she wants to golf but she never comes around to like that she's like you know what you need your own time right and I do think I do agree

02:39:53 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 5:

yeah Jamie what's up hi so my man he got me into baseball

02:40:00 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

02:40:29 - 02:40:37 | Speaker 3:

Would you rather date that guy that got you in the baseball or Zach who gets his girl into wrestling? Would you want to be at a wrestling? Yeah, brother.

02:40:37 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 1:

Listen, this body is too broken to wrestle, so I'll stick with the baseball.

02:40:43 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Fair enough. All right. What were you going to say? No, a girl got me into parfaits. No, I love them. Had never had a parfait. That is so random. Now I'm at the grocery store. I'm Greek yogurt, blueberries with granola and raspberries. Don't eat those raspberries right now. It is what it is. Don't eat yogurt either. We don't want you farting. Quick question.

02:41:02 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 3:

You'll still come over, won't you? Is he really talking parfaits, or is this that whole eating thing all over? You might have to dump it.

02:41:09 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 5:

02:43:20 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 4:

No, she sounds exactly the same to what she does on the radio.

02:43:24 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 5:

And she looks pretty, too. People think I look worse in person than I do on camera. That's so BS.

02:43:30 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Okay, great. And I see your Facebook photos, so... Oh, okay.

02:43:33 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Well, some people think I'm a catfish.

02:43:35 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 3:

No, come on. Is Jennifer there, too?

02:43:38 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 5:

02:43:52 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 3:

02:43:54 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 5:

I'm from Barbados, the country of Rihanna.

02:43:57 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 3:

Barbados, right? Rihanna. I love it.

02:44:00 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:44:01 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 3:

Shake. Yay.

02:44:02 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 5:

We love that. Shout out to Jennifer. I want to get one of the Tim Hortons workers on. Who can talk? Who can talk? Can I come behind the counter? Can I come behind the counter?

02:44:10 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 2:

No, you need to work the drive-thru. Work the drive-thru, Bianca. Can I work the drive-thru for one order? I'm going to go with the drive-thru for one order. Put the headset on.

02:44:17 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 5:

Behind the counter. Bianca. Can I put a headset on or something? Yeah. All right. Okay, somebody give her a headset. All right, I'm about to start working one of the – I'm about to work a shift. Go live. What's your name?

02:44:28 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Bianca, I got to see this. Hi, Ram. We are live. You can go on the live stream. You can see me on there. Talk to Mojo over there. Which one? All of them. I'm Mojo.

02:44:35 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's your name? Saram. Hey, Saram, Mojo, Shannon, Anna, Cal, Zach, Lydia. And, hey, Bianca, she's going to get you more customers today because she's so friendly on the phones. Right, Lydia?

02:44:50 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:44:51 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

02:44:53 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 3:

Here she is working.

02:44:54 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 5:

Time alone.

02:44:55 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way.

02:44:55 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 5:

All right, ready? We got my little headset on. All right, so how do you do this? You just tell people, like, what they want.

02:45:00 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 2:

Go live on our Twitch. You can see beyond being married. All right. All right, we're going to figure this out. So let me make a coffee real quick. Actually, I kind of like the ice cap. Can I make an ice cap real quick? Yeah. Is there a sanitary rule for this? We're going to get, like, shut down. All right, I'm going to put some hand sanitizer on.

02:45:20 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 3:

Don't worry. Everybody's worried about lettuce now. Nobody's worried about you now.

02:45:26 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 2:

Are you doing card or cash? Card? All right, go ahead. Enter right there. Enter it right there. Yep. Yep. Perfect.

02:45:33 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 3:

Tell them that they're not going to get coffee with a smile unless they say that they turn their station to Mojo in the morning. So they got to make sure.

02:45:40 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I just want to let you know, if you want your coffee, one, you need a smile, and two, you got to put 955 on the radio. Your radio doesn't work. Oh, your radio doesn't work? Oh. I'm just kidding. Man, we are losing. Hey, you got a phone that works? Yeah. Hey, you can put the iHeartRadio app on. Put 955. No, you need to. or I'm not getting you in your coffee.

02:46:02 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 4:

She's really outside the window.

02:46:04 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Is this her order? No. Okay. You can have your coffee, ma'am. She was not having it.

02:46:08 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm so sorry. Tell her this morning we're helping the kids out for camp day, but we're also helping out these kids here in the studio for more listener day.

02:46:15 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I think I'm on the drive-thru. I think I'm on the drive-thru. Hi. What can I keep for you? I'm on the drive-thru thing right now. I'm talking to the drive-thru person. Hey.

02:46:25 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hi. Please pull around. I like it.

02:46:28 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 2:

Please pull up. I'll take your order at the window. Just don't order there. I'll pull up to the window.

02:46:33 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This is, by the way, this is a very busy Tim Hortons, too. Tim Hortons, 12 Mile in Farmington.

02:46:41 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, ma'am, if you want your coffee, you got to, I can't focus. This is a thing in my ear. If you want your coffee, you got to have 955 on the radio.

02:46:52 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 3:

What'd she say? I don't have a radio, too. What's up? She just said.

02:46:57 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, talk to Mojo.

02:46:58 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hello. Who's this?

02:47:01 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 2:

My name is Linda.

02:47:03 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Linda. Listen, we're not trying to bully you. We're just trying to give you some coffee today. It's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning. If you would be nice when you pull out of there, will you listen to the radio show?

02:47:15 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:47:16 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. I like that. Thank you. Where are you from, Linda? You from Farmington or where are you from?

02:47:21 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes, Farmington Hills.

02:47:22 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

You guys are wonderful people in Farmington Hills. We love you guys. Thank you for making us number one.

02:47:28 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Yes, I'm going to turn to the radio station now.

02:47:33 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, 95.5, okay? We like to talk about stupid stuff on the radio, so we have fun.

02:47:40 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:47:40 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 3:

All right, love you. All right. Love you.

02:47:42 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 2:

All right, love you, too. Thank you.

02:47:44 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 3:

All right, Bianca. That's nice. See, that's a nice lady. Here we go. It all worked out. All righty. We appreciate it. Now steal her phone. All right. Drive away with her phone. Just take her phone.

02:47:54 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 1:

I want to place an order with Bianca to bring back.

02:47:56 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 3:

What do you want her to do? What do you want her to do?

02:47:58 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 1:

Bianca, can I get some sour cream glazed Timbits and an ice cap?

02:48:03 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm bringing goods for everyone today. Ma'am, you cannot get your coffee unless you've got a smile on your face.

02:48:08 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 3:

All right, enough already, enough.

02:48:11 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 2:

Motor in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

02:48:13 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what's going on in the dirty?

02:48:15 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 1:

So it is breaking dirty. The Detroit Red Wings are announcing that Steve Iserman is no longer the team's general manager and will instead serve as a senior advisor to Chris Illich.

02:48:29 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 3:

So what does this mean for Dylan? What does this mean for Dylan Larkin?

02:48:33 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 4:

Send him to the Griffins.

02:48:34 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, there is a new head of hockey operation search underway right now.

02:48:38 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 3:

I wonder how much of a role that played and whether or not he stays, though. Well, they're doing the smart thing. They're not firing him. They're putting him in another position. He's basically firing him. My gut tells me that I could see them make maybe Chris Draper or Dean Cleary as the new general manager because I know those guys have been Steve's assistants.

02:49:00 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 2:

I like Chris Draper.

02:49:01 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 3:

But I do have to say this. Guys got to have balls to make moves. You know what I mean? Or it's going to happen to you, whoever becomes the next person. You got to be able to say to the owner of the team, Chris Illich, spend money or we're not going to win. And honestly, I don't think that Dylan Larkin made a mistake by saying he wanted out of here.

02:49:21 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't think he wants to win. No, but I also feel like if you sign a long-term deal as a captain, you don't ask for a trade three years into your contract. So what do you got to do?

02:49:33 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

So instead, just like the fans who have had to deal with the fact that every trade deadline, we did nothing. We drafted decent, but not great. I mean, I hate to say this, you know, Zach, I'm kind of feeling that way around. I heard here. We need to pick up the pace. Everybody else needs to, you know, Tony, go make a trade. Let's do it. Let's make us winners. But no, I'm telling you, if you're stuck in a.

02:50:00 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 6:

situation where you're kind of lagging a little bit like dylan larkin is and i know he has not been playing like to the level of what steve eizerman was as a as a player hey this is steve

02:50:11 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 3:

eizerman and you're waking up with mojo in the morning he but he actually was having a great

02:50:15 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 6:

season last year before we got into the uh the olympics they didn't do anything post olympics to try to make the team better and it's almost kind of like he just said enough i'm done why am

02:50:26 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 7:

i killing myself why when they were in first place before the olympics yeah why fix any something that's not broke they expected them to perform they were they were in first place when they came out of the olympics uh going into the olympics i believe going into the olympics yeah well i think

02:50:43 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 6:

you got to make a couple trades you needed a couple enforcers you need uh you know yeah have a little bit of uh you have you need to have more than one line um i don't know remember when the Remember when Mr. Illich was around? Yeah. Do you remember when this team would play and win and make trades?

02:51:01 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 4:

We are the hockey town.

02:51:03 - 02:51:07 | Speaker 6:

That was also before salary cap. Well, yeah, you're right, bud.

02:51:08 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 3:

In other dreams.

02:51:08 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 6:

By the way, when's your team going to make another move?

02:51:12 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 1:

I'm just sitting here listening to you say it's cool for guys when they not winning to ask for a trade, but you crushed LeBron when he wanted to leave Cleveland. Uh-oh.

02:51:21 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 6:

Different sport. Yeah, a bit. Basketball, hockey. Yeah, but it's too arguing that she just lost in 30 seconds. Good job, sir. By the way, did your mom ever get air conditioning yet? Let's go back. Go back to that.

02:51:33 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 3:

Ariana Grande and her former backup dancer, Ricky Alvarez, are taking things very slowly. But, yes, they are rekindling their romance. They dated for about a year, like a decade ago. Everybody kind of knew this was happening because they were together for the 4th of July weekend with her family. She is currently on the road for her Eternal Sunshine Tour. Fans noticed right away that she updated her Thank You Next lyrics to reflect this rekindling. On his birthday, she sang, wrote some songs about Ricky. We always find our way back. So that was a big hint. Taco Bell is now being looked into for this cyclosporiasis explosive diarrhea parasite outbreak.

02:52:17 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 2:

A new report that says health officials are investigating Taco Bell as a potential part of the cyclospora parasitic outbreak, sickening thousands of people across the U.S. The Washington Post cites two anonymous sources close to the investigation. Taco Bell has removed several items from its menu in some areas as a precaution. Michigan's health department has pointed to lettuce or other salad greens as a potential source of the outbreak there and says some people infected with the parasite did not eat a Taco Bell.

02:52:46 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 6:

My favorite meme is, I want to go back to eating salads that I hated eating before I was eating salad.

02:52:52 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 3:

I love all the memes of women specifically who want to lose weight. So they are posting videos of themselves in the grocery store, pretending to lick all the lettuce and stuff. And lastly, this is a wild story. So this family goes to stay at an Airbnb in San Diego. They walk into this beautiful home. They discover there's a big framed photo on the wall showing this, like, beach scene, people playing in the ocean. They realize that the people in this photo, it's them. What? It's them.

02:53:31 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 4:

From how long ago?

02:53:31 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 3:

Ten years ago.

02:53:32 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay, guys. The weirdest thing happened. We get to our Airbnb in San Diego. It's unsettling. Unsettling. And we're, like, looking through it. no connections to it we're looking at this picture and my dad is like this looks like me and i'm like oh dad what no this is my dad that's my sister libby when she was 10 years ago and that's brady my brother 10 years ago he is lit they're literally in the airbnb picture

02:54:05 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 3:

we are literally in this isn't that it's a total coincidence a photographer just happened to take a photo from like a cliff or something and then sold that photo as art and it happened to be hanging on the wall in the Airbnb that they rented.

02:54:20 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy. I would think I was

02:54:22 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 3:

in an episode of, what was that show, Black Mirror? Black Mirror. We're living in the Matrix. Right? Yeah. Alright, if you miss anything from today's show, listen on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:55:43 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 4:

yeah so um one of my friends and I we I wouldn't say like we aren't friends anymore but we definitely like just kind of drifted apart with work happening for both of us we haven't seen each other in a while we were out this weekend and ran into each other and we were like we need to get together again so we're actually getting together tonight but i went to text her yesterday to ask like where do you want to meet up um and i noticed that the last thing in our chat is a notification that i don't think i received but i can see it in the chat and it says that she stopped sharing her location with me oh i know and now i'm like does it show a date at all or let me check but i'm like what one why did you stop sharing your location with me are we are we fighting i don't know why

02:56:29 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 3:

did you guys share your locations with each other in the first place um i just share it with all my

02:56:33 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 4:

friends just so we like know where each other's at and stuff like that so then i went and stopped

02:56:38 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 2:

sharing mine back is that bad yes why i don't want you to i'm saying you didn't even ask her It does say the day. She immediately was like, I got you, I'm going to get you back.

02:56:48 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Just because somebody snuck you on me. Well, like, why am I sharing my location with you?

02:56:50 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 2:

It's okay for one.

02:56:51 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Why can you see where I'm at, but I can't see where you're at?

02:56:55 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 2:

You can get some understanding.

02:56:56 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 4:

Maybe she has a reason. I mean, maybe, I'll probably bring it up today. I'm like, maybe she turned it off because she was, like, going to see a sneaky link, and she didn't want me to see something.

02:57:03 - 02:57:25 | Speaker 2:

I've had a few women in my life who have told me, and it was either people who I had been in a relationship with, who maybe they told their friends I did them dirty, and now she's over me, but then she's back in the crib. So anytime she would come over, she would turn her location off so her friends wouldn't realize that she was with me. Oh, wow. Could have been. By the way, her friends just didn't want her to be with me.

02:57:25 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 1:

You don't have to stop sharing the location. You can just shut your Wi-Fi and location finder off.

02:57:31 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 2:

And just put it in airplane mode, don't you? Maybe everybody don't know that, though.

02:57:35 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, if your airplane mode, though, still attaches the Wi-Fi, it will still stay. So, but with that said, um, busted, I, I find it really interesting how so many people that are not like related to each other. They're just friends. Like you guys, you and your girlfriends share locations.

02:57:53 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

02:57:55 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 1:

Why?

02:57:55 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 4:

It's like little like Sims or something. I watched them all day. I'm like, Oh, they're at work. They're there.

02:58:00 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 1:

I think it's a girl thing because I was going to say, I do it with some of my friends too. Chelsea does it too. And to me, I'm like, okay, like I don't have Kev's location or Zach's location.

02:58:10 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 2:

Thank God. You never would.

02:58:12 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 1:

I would. You know what I mean, though? Guys don't do that.

02:58:15 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 2:

No, JG share his location with me.

02:58:17 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 1:

Why?

02:58:17 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 2:

You don't share it back?

02:58:18 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:58:19 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy to me. I don't know. I like people having, Wes has my location too, obviously, but I like people knowing my location because it's my dateline brain. I'm like, if something ever happened to me, they'd know exactly where I was. Yeah, same.

02:58:32 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

Why does JG share his location with you?

02:58:35 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:58:35 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you share it back?

02:58:37 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It felt weird.

02:58:38 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 4:

Do you share your location with anyone?

02:58:40 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 2:

I share my location with my best friend. I don't know why my voice cracked there. Best friend. My best friend? And then Gerard. The girl best friend. And my cousin Gerard. Wow, two of them. Why does Gerard? No, he don't share his with me either. I think both of them, I shared it. And I can't remember because it's been a while. But I think I shared it for a reason. Like, I think something happened. And I was like, dog, let me just share my location with Gerard. And then best friend, I was just being funny one day. I'm like, you know, if you ever want to pop up, you know where I'm at. Do you look at it a lot?

02:59:11 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Like to see what she's doing?

02:59:13 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 2:

They don't share theirs with me. Gerard doesn't share theirs with me. Best friend don't share hers with me. Oh, she doesn't.

02:59:17 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 3:

It kind of comes in handy sometimes, too, though. Like if I need to call my friend, I can see like in her in the text chain. I'm like, oh, she's at work. I'm not going to call her right now. I'll wait.

02:59:27 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever go back to best friend? because this is the girl that he dreams of having a long-lasting relationship with. Do you think that she checks you to see where you're at?

02:59:39 - 02:59:40 | Unknown:

I have no idea.

02:59:40 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever, when you're with another girl or at a girl's place, do you ever worry that she's looking at it and seeing that you're following around?

02:59:47 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 4:

How does she know it's a girl's place? It could be his homeboys.

02:59:50 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 2:

The thoughts never cross my mind.

02:59:52 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 1:

Think about that next time. Think about it next time.

02:59:56 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 3:

He's just very jealous that you don't share it with him. No, no, no.

02:59:58 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't want his location.

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 2:

I got to be honest with you. The only time I want his location is when the meeting starts at 5.50 and he's not here. That's the only time. It's like, where the F is Kevin? What's going on, Mike? How you doing?

03:00:12 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm smooth. How y'all doing? I love that response.

03:00:15 - 03:00:21 | Speaker 2:

I have never had a friend or caller go, I'm smooth. Really? I like that, Mike.

03:00:21 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 3:

Give more black people in your life. They're not from Detroit, then. They're not from Detroit. I love it. That's Detroit lingo. I love it. They're not from Detroit, then.

03:00:29 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, welcome to the show. What's going on?

03:00:32 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you know, I'm good. No, but you know, your friend stopped sharing that location on purpose. So, you know, I'm pretty sure, like, in the, I won't say most recent update, but in the update Apple had, you know, they used to get a notification, like, or something like that to tell you, like, they stopped sharing the location. They'd notify you like that. Like, you'd get a notification when they stopped doing it. So they silently stopped sharing that location.

03:00:55 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 1:

I know, that's shady, right?

03:00:56 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 3:

i wouldn't say shady i mean like you say y'all kind of i won't say sell off but you know it's just busy but i don't know i don't know did you get a new phone that happens when we're gonna

03:01:09 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 1:

find out interesting oh you're gonna see today yeah i'm hanging out with her today that's actually

03:01:13 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 2:

a really good point she'll find out and it could just be something as simple as they got a new

03:01:18 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 3:

phone which would be interesting yeah that does happen yeah because my buddy my best friend got a new phone he stopped sharing his with me for a minute i was like hey bro what's going on why are you sharing locations with your friends guy friends see so if it's like yo close guy friends that you've been cool with like for the longest like y'all you play the game with them you know you go hang out with them you drink with them you gotta share your locations with them

03:01:42 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 2:

no maybe not every one of them but to me it's very it's very it's very chickish buddy

03:01:48 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 3:

not really bro it is to the point where y'all not friends but y'all more like family than just friends you got those friends you guys have

03:01:57 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 2:

wine nights together too what do you guys do

03:02:00 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 3:

we don't even do that now we have a box of car that's what we'll do now we're talking

03:02:05 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 2:

alright well

03:02:07 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 3:

hold on

03:02:12 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 2:

Megan's on with us what's up Megan what'd you want to say

03:02:14 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 1:

hi one I call my friends that I watch My Sims 2 because we watch Bob on the Hill, but 2, like the last caller, yeah, she might have just gotten a new phone. I've noticed that, like, two of my friends got new phones, and they just stopped sharing their locations, but not on purpose, so probably not a big deal. I hope that's the case.

03:02:36 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever catch your friends doing anything shady, either you or Mike, Megan or Mike? Do you guys ever notice the people?

03:02:43 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 3:

I got a funny story, like, about sharing location with friends. And my friend told me this story. Like, two of my boys, they share their locations with each other, right? You know, they out at a hotel with some girls and stuff. He, like, he calls them and he said, bro, I got the hotel across from you. He was like, ain't no way. He was like, yeah, he was checking his location. He was like, I'm at the hotel across from you. They look out the window, they see each other. Oh, my gosh.

03:03:10 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 2:

What are the odds?

03:03:12 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Both of them on the same type of time, man. Oh, my God. That is a funny story, man.

03:03:17 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 2:

I have a funny story for you. A friend of mine was telling me a story about the time that they all were out living in apartment life, right? And they all lived in different apartments. And they met a girl at a bar. And he was telling me a story about how he went to go to his friend's apartment only to notice, this is before locations are on the phones, only to notice that the girl who they met at the bar that he spent the night with the day before's car was parked in the parking lot of the apartment building that he was going to his friend at, you know, his friend's place. So he's like, yeah, it looks kind of like her car, you know, whatever. Starts walking to the guy's apartment and sees her ass walking out of the apartment. And I thought to myself, oh, my God, if they had locations at the time, like if he had the location of this girl, what would you do if you looked at a location and notice the girl you're dating is walking out of your best buddy's apartment. They basically all, that's like cheaters. They did the same girl. What's going on? How you doing? Oh, what did Ashton want to say to me? I guess Ashton had, was it a complaint?

03:04:25 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 1:

He was asking why you had double standards. What do you mean?

03:04:28 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Explain. Hold on. Let's call him back.

03:04:30 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:04:31 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Let's get him. Let's get his ass back on. I'm not putting up with that. Double standard. I've never double standard in my life. The survey says. That was a lie. Is Ashton answering? Hold on. Ashton, what do you mean by I'm double standarding?

03:04:57 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Because. Talk to us. Turn the radio down. Turn the radio down.

03:05:07 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Because you won't blink an eye when girls say they share locations with each other, but when guys share locations with each other...

03:05:15 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 1:

It's the strangest thing ever. I think it's weird.

03:05:19 - 03:05:28 | Speaker 5:

We gotta keep up with each other. We gotta look out for each other. There's strange things happening in this world, and we gotta make sure we're safe.

03:05:28 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 3:

you were so not wrong it's a safety thing i don't know i just think that it just seems something that uh usually just a bunch of girlfriends do like it's like i don't think there's anything wrong with sharing your location with your girl as a guy you know or if if you're in a relationship with a guy like where you're dating a guy because you're in a relationship but a bunch of guy friends like i got a bunch of guy friends and i don't need to see where they're at at all times

03:05:54 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 1:

But you're not, I mean, at least I'm not, sitting there staring at that map all the time. But, like, let's say your buddy John Talenter, you guys are meeting up for drinks and dinner, and you get there, and you're like, where the heck is he? You can look and be like, oh, he's four minutes away. Okay, fine. I'm going to wait to order a drink. See, I love it for that reason, too.

03:06:14 - 03:06:33 | Speaker 5:

The only reason. No, no, you go ahead, Ashton. How do you use it? So I was just saying, even deeper than that, I don't want to make it, like, too dark, but this situation with the Noah Wells kid, maybe if some of his friends had the location, they could be familiar with that.

03:06:33 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 3:

That, by the way, is the extreme case of that, where somebody ends up dying or getting killed. I'm talking about a bunch of guy friends. Think about this. That normally are just literally hanging out at their work with their wives or whatever, a bar or something like that. Like, I don't need to see that.

03:06:58 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

03:06:59 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but when life gets unnormal, you get to see it.

03:07:02 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 2:

Even if, like, a friend's running late, like, I'll check her location and I'll be like, oh, she hasn't even left her house yet. Like, I still have some time. Yeah. It's just nice.

03:07:10 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Holly?

03:07:13 - 03:07:23 | Speaker 7:

So, Mojo, I just had a weird question for you. I mean, I know you were talking about it yesterday. You were so on to about how you and your buddies watch porn together. No, no, no, no.

03:07:24 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this is why I'm not bringing topics up on the air. I said I don't want to watch porn with my buddies. I said that Stevie likes to watch porn with his buddies. I'm not watching porn with my buddies.

03:07:42 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to figure out when your friends are coming here or not.

03:07:45 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Seriously. People need to pay attention more. What's going on? This is, by the way, why parents get mad at you as a kid because you only hear part of the story. What's going on, Steve?

03:07:58 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 6:

Mojo, first off, if it was Chickish, my man, you would do it.

03:08:06 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 4:

This is a bro session.

03:08:07 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 6:

I shared my location, and I got one of my best friend's locations because he was driving nine hours to come see me. Yes, great reason. Special circumstances.

03:08:21 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 3:

You should have just ended after the chickish thing.

03:08:24 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 6:

You got to do it.

03:08:26 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, Steve.

03:08:27 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 6:

Other than that, I mean, no judgment. I mean, I'm just saying, some of the things, there's chickish things you do, brother. Thank you. I ain't judging. I ain't judging. I ain't judging. And hold on, before you kick me off the line, I want to rewind to something you said the other day about people not wanting to be with trash men. I had a couple of my trash men buddies come up and talk to me about that, and I was like, whoa.

03:08:48 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 3:

What I said was, again, this is add the story. What I said was women, you know, having their guy who's the trash man coming home smelling like the trash. But, all right, thank you for the call.

03:09:04 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 6:

Hey, hey, I drop clothes before I get in the house, son. All right. Son!

If you do not get a call back after you went on a date, then I want you to do this. I want you to text DATE to 95500, and we will find out what exactly is going on, why you're not getting a call back, try to get you an answer. Ava went out on a date, and she is not getting a call back. Ava, how you doing?

03:10:56 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 6:

hi i'm doing okay ava i want you to say hi to ryan hi

03:11:05 - 03:11:29 | Speaker 7:

ryan are you there or did you ghost us too no no i'm here i'm here okay all right all right so ava you went out with ryan he's not calling you back we ended up reaching out to him to ask him to come on the radio with us you want to say hello or see what's going on i mean i'm glad he's

03:11:29 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 4:

answering your calls i i don't know what you want me to say to that honestly like

03:11:36 - 03:12:10 | Speaker 7:

what's it's just kind of weird what what'd you guys do on your date what did you do ava we went to a bar okay and then just had drinks and hung out with each other for a while how long was your date for how long were you guys together a few hours okay and at the end of the date what did you guys do did you kiss goodbye say goodbye what'd you do there was kissing okay that's it and did you say anything like hey we'll talk soon or did he say that

03:12:10 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 6:

I mean, things progressed, and it was more than just kissing, but it kind of implied that we would see each other again.

03:12:21 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 7:

Did you guys end up having sex with each other?

03:12:24 - 03:12:25 | Speaker 6:

No.

03:12:25 - 03:12:36 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so it was just more than kissing. Ryan, are you not interested, or are you just, you know, kind of non-committed right now?

03:12:36 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 4:

so like the whole thing is she was just really up in my business and i i was not

03:12:43 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 7:

i was not really comfortable with that was it questions that she was asking you is that what

03:12:48 - 03:12:55 | Speaker 4:

you mean i mean that's yeah she was she was asking me one question just over and over again and just

03:12:55 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 5:

what was the question and you weren't answering it what question because it's weird you kept

03:13:00 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 4:

asking me what my body count was like she she asked me over and over and over again what's my body count like we're kissing she stops what's my body count and and she said you know i just i feel

03:13:13 - 03:13:19 | Speaker 5:

like i deserve to know that if i'm gonna be sleeping with you so i don't think that's weird

03:13:19 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 4:

ava you literally like just kept stopping like we're kissing and then you asked me what body count is and then we you know get a little past that you asked me what body count is and you know It's our first date.

03:13:31 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 7:

You were not wanting to share that, and she felt like you were holding back on her, so she kept asking you, and you thought that she needed to let it go.

03:13:43 - 03:13:51 | Speaker 4:

Look, yes, that's exactly what I was saying. And look, I'm clean. I'm responsible. I'm not like some...

03:13:51 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but how am I supposed to know that if you're not going to give me information? But him telling you his number isn't going to tell you if he is clean or not. And they deserve to know if he's, like, sleeping around with, like, a whole bunch of women, you know?

03:14:05 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 4:

It's our first date. I'm not, like, trying to, you know, commit to you right away. And on top of that, like I told you on the date, I'm not, like, you know, some slut. I'm not. I'm not that kind of guy.

03:14:18 - 03:14:39 | Speaker 7:

So that is actually interesting that you say that you're not a slut because I would think that a guy being asked by his body count that doesn't want to admit to it is not admitting to it because he slept with a bunch of women it might be that the body count wasn't that high and maybe maybe that's why you didn't say it or what was the reasoning of why

03:14:39 - 03:14:44 | Speaker 5:

you wouldn't answer it yeah why wouldn't you answer it thank you oh my gosh because it's

03:14:44 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 7:

personal and we're on our no i know i understand listen i don't care what your body count is and i don't think that it matters anyway but what was it what was the thing that was so turned off about that like when she first asked you in the beginning because typically

03:15:00 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 3:

if if you just ask some people that question some people are either hey i'll tell you 25 whatever the deal is and then there are some people that are like that is just so personal to me and i don't want to talk about that and i always wonder what is their issue with the the question is their issue because the number's way high and they're ashamed by that or is it the issue that their number's way low and they feel like they're embarrassed by that you know what i mean who

03:15:26 - 03:15:57 | Speaker 4:

keeping count like that well i that's okay i hear you you are keeping count no look that's not what i'm saying at all i mean like no no no no grown bro i don't forgot like i it ain't like five to where i can just immediately be like how about this year how about this year or this month let's talk to them that's what this is about oh you and ryan are the same kind of guy i don't have a notes page in my phone where i'm jotting down everybody's name like i just don't operate like that the my The chart is clean. That's what mattered the most.

03:15:57 - 03:16:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but what happens if something came up and then you had to, like, notify?

03:16:01 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 4:

Then I guess I would do all of that. But right now, the MyChart clean, and I'm worried about tomorrow, not yesterday.

03:16:06 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 3:

You can kind of put a guesstimate to something like this and just throw out whatever. He obviously was not going to do it. And his reasoning, you know, is that he just doesn't want to be asked that question. I would have probably dropped it, Ava, at that moment.

03:16:20 - 03:16:36 | Speaker 8:

and i just like if we're fooling around like it's kind of implied that that's where things are headed next and i think that i deserve kind of that answer before i decide to be number 217 like

03:16:36 - 03:16:59 | Speaker 5:

i don't know but if that is so so so important to you 17 and and look like my number is not look look i'll give you like a rough estimate like i'm i'm not i'm not like that high i'm not like walt chamberlain over here just sleeping with any girl i could get you know i'm i'm i'm in the double digits but i'm not like high double digits and again i i would have had that

03:16:59 - 03:17:18 | Speaker 3:

conversation if we had kept dating but you know you just said that now why would you not just say that then though thank you like what but no i'm not trying i'm just asking like what like if you said it just now i'm in double digits but not like did like what made because she was very

03:17:18 - 03:17:22 | Speaker 5:

insistent like what's your number what's your number not like oh you probably got the higher

03:17:22 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 3:

number to him i think the tone that you guys have with each other make me think that there's nothing but i i don't know if they i don't know what your tone was when you guys were talking to it because

03:17:31 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 1:

i understand there was a point in my life where that i was concerned with that like i didn't want to date somebody that had you know been with 200 other women like that definitely was like a reputation that i kind of wanted to avoid but at the same time like you are already in a situation where you're about to have sex with this guy and this is, like, very much a priority to you.

03:17:54 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:17:54 - 03:17:56 | Speaker 1:

So I just think that the timing was interesting.

03:17:57 - 03:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Kayla, what's up?

03:17:59 - 03:18:23 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so I think body count does not matter at all, especially when it comes to trying to decide, like, if someone's clean or not. Yeah. Because I have upwards of 50 bodies, and I've never caught anything. But my partner only has, like, eight bodies, and he's caught something before so the number doesn't matter it's who you're having it with

03:18:23 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 1:

it only take one time can we also stop saying body count god i hate that so much i really do

03:18:29 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's so like gross to me what do we say do we say how many people have you had sex with

03:18:33 - 03:18:41 | Speaker 1:

yeah just refer to that body count just sounds so like yeah what's going on how you doing holly

03:18:41 - 03:19:01 | Speaker 7:

directly hi um i was basically saying the same thing the last caller just said um but also i feel like um that was bad timing like really bad timing and you don't know when you're gonna catch something if that's what she's worried about

03:19:01 - 03:19:08 | Speaker 3:

it could be number one or number 300 when is the right timing if you're i don't planning on

03:19:08 - 03:19:12 | Speaker 7:

wanting to have sex with somebody if she was that concerned about it maybe she should have

03:19:12 - 03:19:34 | Speaker 3:

said something at the bar well i think that's where she was saying it so i think i think the whole night that they were together for three hours she asked a question a few times according to what they were saying um maybe you don't do it and don't ask that question until a couple of dates in and then you decide whether or not you guys want to take it to that level what's up Wendy?

03:19:35 - 03:19:45 | Speaker 2:

Hi, if she's thinking about sleeping with him on the first date, she should probably assume that he has a fairly high body count, and she probably does, too.

03:19:46 - 03:19:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Let me ask you, Ava, what is the, did you give him your body count when he wouldn't give yours or his?

03:19:54 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 8:

I wasn't going to disclose first.

03:19:57 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so you aren't. Sorry, what if you guys...

03:20:00 - 03:20:02 | Speaker 2:

We both did it at the same time. Ready? One, two, three.

03:20:03 - 03:20:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm thinking of a number in my head. Ava, what was a magical number to you? Like, what was the line where he, if he said, you know, this is the number, you needed it to be low, to be below or whatever?

03:20:14 - 03:20:15 | Speaker 2:

What do you hope is number?

03:20:15 - 03:20:21 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I would hope that we are in the same ballpark, but.

03:20:22 - 03:20:23 | Speaker 2:

How old are you, Ava?

03:20:25 - 03:20:25 | Speaker 6:

I'm 26.

03:20:26 - 03:20:30 | Speaker 2:

So what would be a ballpark for a 26-year-old?

03:20:31 - 03:20:34 | Speaker 6:

I'm not going to answer that until he answers that.

03:20:34 - 03:20:38 | Speaker 2:

She's playing too much games. Jennifer wants to comment. What's up, Jennifer?

03:20:39 - 03:20:42 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, guys. All the time, long time, but I never get a shout-out.

03:20:43 - 03:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer, tell us your body count first. Say, now, Jennifer on the phone.

03:20:49 - 03:21:23 | Speaker 6:

Yay. Oh, thanks, guys. So, hey, I don't view this as a body count issue. What I'm hearing is it's a boundaries issue. He has boundaries that he has not, doesn't sound like, was able to communicate clearly at the time. And she's not picking up on boundaries. She doesn't either, she doesn't understand how to go about finding them out. So this is a boundaries issue. He has a boundary with what she's asking, and she's not picking up on that, and she just keeps at it. And if this is an issue with boundaries, it will continue to be an issue with boundaries. Put a bow on it, say goodbye, and go your different ways.

03:21:23 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Can I also say I wonder what her tone was when she was doing it? And if her tone was how she is now, then it came across hard. Or if her tone was joking, because sometimes you joke a little bit and go, come on, tell me, I really want to know. And if that's the case and you get really upset by that, then you're probably taking it way too far. But, Eric, comment from you. Let's get a guy's perspective on this, Eric.

03:21:48 - 03:22:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. So, yeah, no, Mojo, you kind of hit the nail on the head with something that you already said something that I'm about to say. And I'm just wondering, like, why she was so persistent on, like, the first date, understanding that. Why is she so eager to bake the cookies and understand how many people that he's been with? Why can't that be a third, fourth, or fifth date thing? Why do you have to be so eager to get with him?

03:22:12 - 03:22:20 | Speaker 2:

Part of me wonders if, Ava, you were just doing it and at first not realizing that you were upsetting him. Or did you notice that he became irritated?

03:22:21 - 03:22:26 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I didn't realize that it was as big of a deal to him as it was.

03:22:26 - 03:22:27 | Speaker 3:

I made it clear.

03:22:27 - 03:22:29 | Speaker 6:

Obviously, I would not have fallen in.

03:22:31 - 03:22:39 | Speaker 3:

I mean, after the third time, didn't you kind of pick up a hint? Right? I mean. Like three strikes and you're out? Like baseball? How about the sixth time?

03:22:40 - 03:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Listen, I got a feeling that there's no chemistry between the two of you. And if you guys did have sex, it probably wouldn't be good. Hey, they got that far. We've probably got an answer for Ava, but unfortunately, I don't think that there's going to be any more relationship issues or that you guys can work out with each other. So go your separate ways and go enjoy yourself. Thank you, Ryan, for picking up the phone call.

03:23:06 - 03:23:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. And best of luck, Ava. Just don't ask the next guy this.

03:23:12 - 03:23:15 | Speaker 2:

All right. Second date update.

03:23:15 - 03:23:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're getting out of here.

03:23:26 - 03:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Before we leave, go say hi to Bianca for at least the next 25 minutes. Until 11 o'clock, Bianca's at the Tim Hortons in Farmington Hills. Which location?

03:23:39 - 03:23:43 | Speaker 5:

I am at 12 in Farmington, not Middle Belt. Farmington.

03:23:43 - 03:23:58 | Speaker 2:

12 in Farmington. Go say hi to Bianca. That's the one we used to go to all the time, that Bianca. I used to go there. Is that Pokey Pokey still there, or did they close down after I moved out?

03:23:58 - 03:24:03 | Speaker 4:

They got Jersey Mike's, Kidoba, and they actually just remodeled this in Hortons. So it's so beautiful inside.

03:24:03 - 03:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Please tell, I forget again. What's the owner's name that came up and said hi to her?

03:24:11 - 03:24:19 | Speaker 5:

Ashwad. Ashwad? Ashwad. Ashwad. Ashwad. I actually got her cousin on with me right now. She works with the kids, so she's helping out today for camp day.

03:24:19 - 03:24:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, nice. Thank you guys for having us out there. And just so you know, I miss our studios down the street from you where I would come frequent you guys at least a couple of times a week. So I got to come by and say hi to you sometime, okay?

03:24:33 - 03:24:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes, we're going to do it. You got to come out. I wish we had a Tim Hortons close to us here. Oh, my God, me too.

03:24:38 - 03:24:46 | Speaker 2:

I miss Tim Hortons. All right, Tim Hortons, Farmington Hills. Bianca's there for another 25 minutes Go say hi, good job Bianca, we'll see you later

03:24:46 - 03:24:49 | Speaker 5:
