00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 2:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:58 - 00:01:00 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:01:02 - 00:01:07 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go. It's showtime.

00:01:07 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. I was golfing with a buddy. His name is Steve. And we're having a contest. Just so you put a contest to it. This is a Steve thing, okay? Sounds funny. So I'm golfing with Steve. And Steve is talking to me about, you know, like when you go golfing, you talk about a bunch of stuff. You talk about your relationship, you talk about your family, you talk about ladies. Okay. We talked about penis size. Oh. Okay? All right. So we were having a conversation. Five irons. And Steve, no, no, I like to call mine my driver. So Steve was telling me about how he went to, and Steve's a guy who I've known for a while. He's an older dude. He's like, I don't think it's like maybe late 50s or something. And Steve was telling me how he went to the doctor to go talk to him because if you've ever experienced this, and Kevin, you will experience this one day, it will happen to you. And it honestly pisses you off, literally. You cannot get all the pee out of your bladder. Like, you're peeing, and when you're peeing, you feel like you're peeing, and there's still little water in the cup. Yeah, for sure. You know what I mean? I've been there before. Like, it feels like there's, you know, you know how it's like you're trying to empty, it just doesn't, you know, and it, like, dribbles. So, he went to the doctor, went to the urologist, because he was worried that he might have some kind of an issue there, you know? A little blockage. Maybe he needs a little Drano. And so he deals with the urologist telling him that everything is fine. They do all kinds of tests. Everything is good. Steve's got a good wiener. All right. Good for Steve. I'm happy for Steve. Then the urologist says to him, and this is where it gets kind of funny. The urologist says to him, hey, we're doing this new thing right now that has gotten to be hugely popular that you should think about. And he said, what's that? and he says, we are using Botox and Restylane on male genitalia and guys are finding it to be an amazing thing. And Steve says, what, for peeing? He goes, no, for the looks of your penis.

00:03:27 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 3:

To make your balls smooth?

00:03:29 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, not necessarily to make just the balls smooth, but they say that it makes the penis grow in length and width. Uh-oh, this is probably going to be the biggest drug in the world. Shannon, stop writing stuff down right now. I know you want to tell Wes about this. I'll tell Wes who the urologist is. He's good. Oh, wow, did you hear that? No, but seriously, I don't understand. You must have been a big penis.

00:03:52 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 3:

I have never heard that before.

00:03:55 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 1:

He said it's new. He said that the urologist told him, and this is, by the way, a very reputable urologist, and I'm not plugging him because he's not an advertiser on the show. Maybe I need to see if we can get him to advertise. Guys, I'm going to call Angel today, and I'm going to say, Angel, call on this guy. Tell him we want. I'll endorse that. Would you do that? I want to know how to invest. I know. Don't you think that's a moneymaker? Bro, you get a penis growing drug, that boy's going to be the number one seller.

00:04:22 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 3:

How much bigger did he tell him it'll make it?

00:04:25 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 1:

He said, well, it's funny. He did it by size of fingers, but he said that if the male penis is this width, like if that width, he says it grows it by this much width.

00:04:34 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 3:

I mean, so like 25%. Only with?

00:04:37 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 1:

No. No, it will get length, too, because what happens is the Restylane, I don't even know what Restylane is. What is Restylane?

00:04:44 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 3:

It's just another filler.

00:04:46 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

The Restylane actually enhances the growth. So, okay, so this is an interesting thing. Where are my guys at? Are there any guys that would do this? Would you guys think about?

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 2:

little penis i mean no don't don't don't take it as you're calling up going yeah i got a little penis but every guy wishes that they had a little bit more growth right i mean sure why not like

00:05:11 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 1:

every woman would like to have several shots in your balls and penis area no i'm not for that because that's what you'd have to do it's a shot no it's a lot of shots this isn't something i'm

00:05:20 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 3:

interested in and i'm damn sure not being a guinea pig anytime a doctor says hey we got this a new drug that just hit them. Nah, bro.

00:05:27 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 1:

See, I'm the opposite. I'm like, okay. Where do I sign? I'll do it.

00:05:34 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What a business this must be. It's going to be huge. I mean, look. Literally.

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

Huge. Look, they got BBLs. It's time for some DBLs.

00:05:47 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You know what I'm saying? Why not? I think this is kind of one of those things where equal opportunity. Ladies have vagina shots that they've taken, right, to keep themselves from being able to get them to feel a little bit better down there.

00:06:04 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

The O shot or whatever it was called to help enhance, like, orgasms.

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

It makes it feel.

00:06:10 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if that's still around. That was a thing like 10 years ago.

00:06:13 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's time for us. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? What about you, Alan?

00:06:20 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't do that, but since you brought up golf, um i was golfing with a buddy this past weekend and we saw a guy with a driver head cover and it was a pickle and it said big hurt on it i like that he was pulling it off he said

00:06:36 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

little dick syndrome much oh that's funny by the way can i tell you that that would be the funniest i don't know if anybody's ever had a driver head cover that you put on your on your driver that looks like a penis that would be a thing wouldn't it what a great uh advertisement for this urologist doctor of his. So you wouldn't try this, Alan, if you had an opportunity to do this? I mean, I do Botox in my forehead.

00:07:02 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 5:

Nope, I prefer to age as I do.

00:07:04 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

You want your forehead and your balls to match? I would like them. I feel like the curtain doesn't match the drapes, you know?

00:07:11 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, do women care about wrinkly balls? No, not at all. That's why when you first started talking about this before you said anything about width and length, I was like, why would you care if your balls were wrinkly or smooth. No, I mean, I don't sit there and examine Wes's balls to see if he needs Botox. It's so weird to me. Hey, Frank, what's up?

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on?

00:07:35 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? What do you think about this Botox balls?

00:07:39 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 6:

Hey, you know what? I think anything to make him look a little younger or, you know, lift a little higher, why not? You know what I mean?

00:07:46 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

That's right. I will tell you this. Lifting higher is a big deal. Go measure Wes right now and then measure him in five years. The gravity just kind of plays itself on you. It's awful.

00:07:57 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 6:

And that's the thing. Yeah, and that's the thing. It's more for me instead of her, you know what I mean? Like, you don't got to sit down on the toilet seat and splash in the pool, you know what I mean?

00:08:07 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

I never thought about that. Yeah. By the way, they're hanging that low, Frank. We got to get you into this urologist. Thank you, buddy.

00:08:15 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 6:

You know, some would say, well, I was going to just say, you know, some would say, you know, I'm low in doubt, but, you know, who really knows?

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:08:23 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 6:

You know, if they're hanging that low, you know. Yeah, you got to cuff your pants.

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Roll up your sleeves.

00:08:31 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 6:

But I think ultimately, ultimately, it's up to you. You know what I mean? Like, you know, if, you know, girls want to do, you know, a butt lift, facelift, a boob job, this, that. You know, why couldn't a guy, why can't a guy, you know, For sure.

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely.

00:08:46 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 1:

I just think that would hurt really bad.

00:08:49 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 3:

And it's not a one-time thing, I'm sure. Probably got to go every month.

00:08:52 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, Botox in your face you get a couple times a year.

00:08:55 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Frank. What's up, Seth? What's up, dude? Nothing much, man. What do you think about this, about finally a shot for growth?

00:09:05 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 4:

All right. Number one, how big is the needle that they got to put in me? And I'm definitely not putting it in. there's no way I'm getting a shot on my wiener.

00:09:15 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That would be honestly one of those things where I wouldn't want to see the needle. Like, you know how when you were a little kid and the doctor would give you a shot, but they would, like, try to get your mind off of things and talk about other stuff? I would pretty much say, no, I don't want that.

00:09:28 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

They got to put me to sleep if I'm going through it.

00:09:30 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, that's a good point about the actual shot size on this. Hi, Jordan. What's up?

00:09:37 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay, this sounds really good, But do drugs And nobody's done it yet What if they get this backwards And the side effects are like I don't know, it shrivels up and falls off Or Yeah, there's no side effects

00:09:53 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 4:

What are the side effects?

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Well that's interesting Jordan Because I always love the drug commercials that we play And at the end of the thing

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

like 15 seconds of side effects and they always end with or even dead yeah it's like um this

00:10:09 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 2:

it's like here here's your headache but side effects maybe your head might fall off

00:10:15 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 4:

exactly i always think that uh that the funny thing is we will pretty much do whatever a doctor tells us to do right we'll put shots or everything's in our body this is one of those ones where It's like, if it's close to your private parts, you're not doing it. Bailey, what's up?

00:10:32 - 00:10:33 | Unknown:

What's up, guys?

00:10:33 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

How you doing, buddy? What do you think about this?

00:10:37 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 3:

So, I'm not too worried about the size, but if it'll lift your boys up so you won't sit on them anymore.

00:10:43 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Just like Frank said. Have you ever sat on yours? That is the worst. It hurts. There's nothing worse than when you quickly go sit down and, oh, my gosh, that's horrible. It's like words in a funny bone? Oh, I'm telling you, I'd rather get smacked in the funny bone or honestly smacked him. Like, you know how guys will sometimes go, hey, boom, and like they'll smack you there just to kind of like mess with you a little bit. My buddy Brad did that to me all the time when I was a kid. What's wrong with you, Brad? It's, you know, pretty much like a hotel.

00:11:16 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 3:

I would never go up to another girl and be like, twist to her nipple, ever.

00:11:23 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

Michelle works at a clinic that does this already. What do you call these things, Michelle?

00:11:27 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, we call them the P&O shots. It's a regenerative medicine clinic. Patients are put under with propofol, and we harvest stem cells out of a hip and spin them down. And then those stem cells, the patients woke back up after the harvest. Then once they're harvested and spun down, we put them back to sleep, And then they are injected into the outer portion of the penis, the tip of the penis. Even when men are asleep, they jump off the table. Women get them in their G-spot, and it's for sexual pleasure.

00:12:04 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 4:

And let me ask you, do you have a great response from these people after that, like when they go home and they get with their partner?

00:12:13 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 1:

I've not heard of any great response. It's a great response to the office because this is non-insurance funded and this is cash out of pocket and they make a killing on it.

00:12:24 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 5:

See, that's a whole other conversation. I need to be able to receive the same amount of pleasure and feeling that I have pre-shot, after-shot. If I lose any of them, I think you're going to get more pleasure.

00:12:35 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

And honestly, you're going to get more pleasure to them, too. Jay has actually had this. Voice disguise. Really? Initial Jay. What's up, Jay? I would be screaming this from the rooftops.

00:12:48 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 6:

First time, long time. Hey, Jake.

00:12:53 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

How was it?

00:12:54 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 6:

So, yeah. It wasn't bad. I've had this done. I did it out in Las Vegas. If you guys look up the TikTok on TikTok, that's who did mine. And it's not bad at all. Wait, did you say the TikTok?

00:13:10 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Is it TikTok or TikTok?

00:13:12 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 2:

No, I think he said the TikTok on TikTok.

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

Is that what it is?

00:13:15 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Oh, wow. Well, I mean, you know, we are going for the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Oh, my God.

00:13:20 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

Why did you have it done in the first place? Just because you wanted it to be bigger?

00:13:26 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 6:

So I wanted it to have more girth. Okay, I hate that word.

00:13:30 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 4:

And did it work?

00:13:33 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely.

00:13:34 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

Wow. That's amazing.

00:13:35 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 6:

How bad did that hurt? It was painful, but it wasn't horrible.

00:13:40 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 5:

How often do you have to get shots? Was it a one-and-done thing, or do you have to go back frequently? One-and-done.

00:13:48 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Man, that's amazing.

00:13:48 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 5:

And no side, it ain't turn purple. Are you good?

00:13:52 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you know, you have some side effect around soreness and stuff like that, but nothing bad at all. How much?

00:13:59 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and did it go away?

00:14:03 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 6:

I mean, it'll go away in time, so you'll have to do the maintenance, but it's not. What's maintenance?

00:14:09 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 4:

What kind of maintenance are you doing?

00:14:12 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 6:

as far as, like, pre-injects can.

00:14:16 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's interesting. I was like, what are you doing, honey? I'm doing my maintenance.

00:14:21 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

I want to know how much it is.

00:14:23 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, is it expensive?

00:14:25 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 6:

It's very expensive. Thousands.

00:14:27 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Okay.

00:14:28 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 6:

This is going to be huge.

00:14:29 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 4:

You know what, though? Thousands of dollars. My wife is worth it. Chelsea would be like, you better not go get that thing done. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen? All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Time for Wiz Khalifa tickets. In the back of the day, it was the year that Marlon Wayans starred in the movie. Appropriately enough, Little Man. Oh, why am I not hearing?

00:14:55 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

It's just a gift from God. You know, God gives gifts, and sometimes he wraps them in a hurry.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes. Isn't he a precious gift?

00:15:02 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. He's adorable. In a National Geographic sort of way.

00:15:09 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 7:

This was the year that then-Vice President Dick Cheney shot a guy.

00:15:14 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

Look at that headline. Duck, it's Dick. Cheney was quail hunting with Harry Wittenton in Texas when he accidentally fired a shotgun, not realizing it was pointed at Wittenton.

00:15:25 - 00:15:26 | Unknown:

And...

00:15:26 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 4:

You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:15:33 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 7:

What year was that, Mary?

00:15:36 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

2006?

00:15:37 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 7:

Yes, it was.

00:15:37 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Mary!

00:15:40 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 7:

Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with the prize.

00:15:43 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I'm so excited.

00:15:45 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 7:

We will get you a pair of tickets to go see Wiz Khalifa and DaBaby. That is next week at Pine Knob.

00:15:52 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 2:

00:16:25 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right shannon with what's trending in the dirty on the

00:16:30 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 1:

30 what do you got shannon well i want to play this again in case you missed it at the end of the show yesterday because i saw it all over the place last night former president barack obama appeared on his wife michelle's podcast this week she does a podcast called in my opinion with her brother craig robinson and barack and michelle finally addressing all of these rumors that they

00:16:52 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 5:

are headed for divorce these are the kinds of things that i just miss right so i don't even know this stuff's going on right and then somebody will mention it to me and i'm all like what you

00:17:02 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 2:

talking about yeah there hasn't been one moment in our marriage where i thought about quitting um my man um and we've had some really hard times so we had to have had a lot of fun times a lot of adventures and i have become a better person because of the man i'm married to okay don't

00:17:25 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 7:

don't make me cry now right at the beginning of the show by the way that line of that makes me now think it's a bs clip because there is not a couple in this world that doesn't have a moment where they're like i want to quit this person or i want to get out of that person i mean she

00:17:39 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 6:

probably have had like a surface level thought i took that more so of like the rumors that have been spiraling have been very serious about them potentially breaking up for whatever reason so i

00:17:48 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 7:

think that's more so they've been married since she was addressing 1992 that is a long time though to go without saying i have never wanted to ever get divorced um the other interesting part of that podcast was they were talking about their kids and talking about their daughters and uh the former president was talking about how he had some advice for any men that want to be with their

00:18:12 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 5:

daughters. Those of you who do not have sons, so Emma, we are rooting for you because those of us with daughters, we've got to have good guys out there, not necessarily to get married, but to make sure that what we're learning, I think, is that when we don't think about boys and just assume they're going to be okay because they've been running the world and they've got all the advantages relative to the girls and all of which has historically been true in all kinds of ways but precisely because of that if you're not thinking about uh what's what's happening to boys and and how are they being raised then that can actually hurt women and and i would argue that some of the broad political trends we've seen not just in this country but around the world have to do with this sense of, you know, boys, men, not feeling as if they are seen, feeling as if they count. And that then makes them more interested in appeals by folks who say, you know what, the reason you don't feel respected is because women have been doing this or this group has been doing this or that group's been doing this.

00:19:40 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 7:

And that is not a healthy place to be. As a dad of sons, I actually like that they brought that up because being dad of daughters, obviously you want to put good men in their life. And I think that sometimes these guys get a little bit more discouraged.

00:20:00 - 00:20:26 | Speaker 3:

discounted for what they have to do to be a good guy you know what i mean and as a father of sons i liked hearing that i liked hearing him actually say hey you know what don't ever discount the the men that potentially could be in the lives of of some women because you want healthy relationships you want healthy you know people so my man sound old the brock i've never heard him have such a

00:20:26 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 1:

hard time articulating a thought he saw he saw oh man well i think he didn't want to i think he

00:20:31 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

was sounding like he did not want to say the wrong thing or whatever plus why are they playing the music behind him like what is that that's that great i know but what they do that during their podcast how did they get away with that in a podcast but we get yelled at for this music we play in a podcast president i know but they all have copyrights speaking of dads pete davidson

00:20:51 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 1:

is about to become a dad. Come on, really? Oh my gosh.

00:20:55 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 3:

What's he having, do we know?

00:20:56 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 1:

No, the comedian and former SNL star is expecting a child with his girlfriend, model and actress Elsie Hewitt. And she was the one joking about it on Instagram. She's like, well, everybody now knows that we've had sex. Harry Potter star Emma Watson is not allowed to drive for the next six months. And this sentence comes nearly a year after a camera caught her going, Are you ready for this? She was going 38 in a 30. What? This is in England. Eight miles over? And she cannot drive for six. Now, here's the deal. They take their license away from this? This can't be her first offense. She already had nine points on her record. Okay, okay. Okay, so. The price should have been taken. Yeah, she also had to pay a fine of like $1,300 and some change. And lastly, more changes at the TSA. We told you a couple of days ago that the TSA just ended the rule that you have to remove your shoes during screening. You can keep your sneakers on now. But yesterday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem hinted that the TSA might soon relax its longstanding liquids rule. So you know how you have to put everything in a smaller container or buy the travel size of your favorite products to be under 3.4 ounces? Well, now you might be able to bring your full-size stuff in your carry-on. She emphasized that updates in CT scanners and other new technologies are making it possible to simplify security. And she said her goal is to get passengers from line to gate in under one minute while still preserving everybody's safety.

00:22:31 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 3:

I still like to be felt up by the TSA. You do? I do. There's nothing greater than when the man says, I have to put my hands down right there. So I was like, okay, thank you, sir. You ever been to the back? I never choose to I always say let's do it in public I like it I think when they tell you would you like to go to the back I'm like they're going to beat me up or something I don't want to do that

00:23:51 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

I think we'll take the cash.

00:23:53 - 00:23:54 | Unknown:

I think.

00:23:55 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 3:

Cash?

00:23:55 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 4:

We got grandbabies that just moved in and we need everything. Okay. All right. Okay. All right.

00:24:01 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 3:

00:24:15 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

He's cheating with you, but we'll never cheat on you. That's cute. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:24:28 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 4:

5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55.

00:24:33 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Jeff, I had so many people ask me about you yesterday. when I was out and about. Yeah. A lot of people. A lot of people asking. They said, hey, tell me about, what do you think about this guy on 5 and 6.55 that you busted cheating? And I said, well, you know, he had his wife who was in the background. She said, and one guy said to me yesterday, I was, I won't say where I was because I was at a client. I don't want to call it, but the guy.

00:25:00 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 2:

The guy says to me, he goes, if he'd cheat in five at $6.55, I bet he cheats on his taxes. I said, don't we all? Don't we all?

00:25:11 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 1:

Me and my wife sat and listened to it afterward, and it was actually, she was like, no, that was just you talking to yourself. You know, thinking the answers out loud going, hey, what's that?

00:25:22 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Jeff, Jeff, if you're explaining, you're losing. Sally, story getting a little shaky. If you ever hear a call from a lady named Nicole asking you where you'd like to send a dozen free roses, you better send it to that lovely lady. Yeah. Going for two in a row today, Heather is your challenger. Hi, Heather. Good morning. Hi, how are you? Fantastic. Heather's from Clinton Township. She's headed out to go shopping for your daughter. Are you doing it this early in the morning, shopping for your daughter?

00:25:51 - 00:25:54 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm waiting until a little bit later, but I'm up for this.

00:25:55 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 2:

Where are you going shopping? What stores?

00:25:58 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

Probably going to go to Target. All right. That's us.

00:26:01 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm going to lock up Jeff in a soundproof area. We're going to begin with you. Jeff, good luck to you today. Good luck to you too, Heather, okay?

00:26:08 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 1:

All right, thank you.

00:26:09 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 2:

A, Miley Cyrus, B, Kate Beckinsale, or C, Ariana Grande? Kate Beckinsale. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area.

00:27:32 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

Heather, you only got two out of five. Oh, darn it. Why are the pretty ones always so dumb?

00:27:39 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 2:

No, come on now. Jeff, you got to beat just two. I think you're going to be fine. No help needed on this one. Let's go. Question number one. The trailer dropped for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. On what streaming service can you watch the show?

00:27:56 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 1:

Netflix. One to nothing.

00:27:59 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Question number two. Camilla Parker Bowles is celebrating her birthday today. Why is she famous?

00:28:06 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I want to say, oh. The Real Housewives? Oh, my God.

00:28:13 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

No, she's the Queen of England. She's Prince Charles' wife.

00:28:17 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 1:

One to nothing.

00:28:17 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 2:

Camilla Parker Bowles.

00:28:18 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 1:

I ain't know that neither, bro.

00:28:20 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Question number three. Clay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion hard-launched their relationship this week at a charity event. What sport does Clay play?

00:28:30 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 1:

Football.

00:28:31 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. What? Basketball.

00:28:35 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 1:

One-to-one time. He's a four-time champion.

00:28:39 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 2:

He's a Dallas Maverick now, but, yeah, he played with Curry and Draymond at Golden State. But you've got to get one of these next two right to at least win with a tie. You get both right for a clean win.

00:28:53 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 1:

You've only got to get one of the two.

00:28:55 - 00:29:11 | Speaker 2:

That's what I just said. I don't know if you heard that, but I just said it. Here we go. Question number four. Coca-Cola has agreed to use real cane sugar in their drinks. True or false? There's a dash between the words Coca and Cola on the brand's packaging.

00:29:12 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 1:

True. Yes! Shoot it, too.

00:29:15 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 2:

How dare anybody not know that Coca-Cola question. And question number five, get a clean win, because I literally don't want to have a tie, a two. That just stinks. Question number five, Pete Davidson is going to be a dad. His girlfriend is pregnant with their first child. Which of the following ladies did Pete not date? A, Miley Cyrus, B, Kate Beckinsale, or C, Ariana Grande?

00:29:42 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 1:

A. A is correct. Now that makes me feel good.

00:29:54 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 2:

Nice, clean win. Your second win, buddy. Congratulations to you.

00:29:58 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you.

00:30:00 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 4:

And for you, Heather, you're going to Checkers. We're going to set you up with a nice gift card to Checkers. Oh, thank you. Have a great time at Target today.

00:30:09 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:30:11 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. If you ever are worried that the person that you are in a relationship with is cheating on you, text CHEATER to 95500.

00:30:21 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:30:28 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 4:

So, Amaya, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you?

00:30:32 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:30:32 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 5:

Why? Well, for one thing, he doesn't post me no more on the Internet, on social media.

00:30:41 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 4:

So you guys have been together a couple years, and things have now started feeling a little bit weird because of the thing.

00:30:50 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 5:

Weird, yeah. Nah. It's not right. It doesn't seem to be going in the right direction, no. And he wants to accuse me, but he's the cheater.

00:31:01 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 4:

I have to be quite honest with you. You don't sound like the type of person that I would cheat on if I was a guy.

00:31:07 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank you. I am a guy, but if I was...

00:31:10 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 1:

Amaya, did you ask him why he's not posting you anymore? Because to me, that would freak me out, too.

00:31:19 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 5:

He just says, well, he's been working on some other things, and he didn't have time for this and he fell asleep or he was hanging out with his buddies. So lots of excuses.

00:31:32 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 3:

Was there ever a point, I guess when you guys first started dating, where you told him that he had to post you? Was he ever reluctant or was he always just willing to show you off?

00:31:46 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 5:

That was his thing. He always wanted to show me off and we were going out a lot And I met a lot of his friends and hanging out with them. And now it's kind of, it's just weird. He's, he's distant. It's not, it's not the same. It doesn't even, I don't know if we even date him right now.

00:32:07 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, Amaya, we're going to figure out what's going on here. And we're going to find out if there is anything wrong. And if there isn't, and he sends you the flowers, then we got to figure out a way to get this guy to be a little bit more loving with you. All right?

00:32:21 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Okay. I'm willing.

00:32:25 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'm telling you, this woman would cut your d*** off if you cheated on her.

00:32:30 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 3:

She sounded like she could cook, though.

00:32:32 - 00:32:32 | Unknown:

What?

00:32:33 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 3:

How did you get that out of this? You can make some greens. I can hear it in her voice.

00:32:38 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 5:

Greens? Can I throw down some? What type of greens do you want? See? That's the right kind of question. Some hot water cornbread.

00:32:44 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 3:

I can smell it out. Got that for you, too. All right.

00:32:48 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right. We're calling up Caleb. We're going to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses.

00:33:07 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

00:33:08 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm looking for Caleb.

00:33:12 - 00:33:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, Caleb.

00:33:14 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 1:

Caleb?

00:33:16 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, who's this?

00:33:17 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Hi, Caleb. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. If you can answer two survey questions, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be shipped out today to the person of your choice anywhere in the country, and this is totally free of charge to you. We'll take you less than 30 seconds.

00:33:40 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you got 30 seconds.

00:33:42 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Caleb?

00:33:48 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so.

00:33:50 - 00:33:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:33:54 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 2:

Probably not.

00:33:55 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, that was it. And I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So I need to go ahead and get some information from you about who you want the flowers to go out to this afternoon, starting with a first name and a last name.

00:34:12 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 2:

So you're just going to send them out for free?

00:34:14 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yep, absolutely. Hopefully you'll use us in the future when you order flowers.

00:34:20 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What do you need again?

00:34:22 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 1:

First and a last name of who you would like the flowers to go to.

00:34:27 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 2:

Amaya.

00:34:29 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And Amaya's relationship to you?

00:34:34 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 2:

That's my girlfriend.

00:34:37 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And I can also, instead of sending a card with the flowers, we do something unique at roses bloom calm and we send a voice memo so in this case of Maya will get a text message alerting her she has a delivery today and then she'll also be able to play this voice memo that I'm going to record with you with you here in just a second that makes sense So I'm going to count you down and you just say whatever you would say on a card. You can make it a little bit longer. All right.

00:35:06 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

00:35:06 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Three, two, one.

00:35:12 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 5:

Love forever and always, Caleb.

00:35:17 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And Caleb, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:35:25 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 5:

Not really.

00:35:28 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:35:29 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 5:

So is that it? Are we good to go?

00:35:31 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 1:

We are good to go, but I actually need you to okay the call being recorded for me to proceed any further and send the flowers.

00:35:37 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 5:

Okay, yeah, recorded. Yeah, whatever.

00:35:40 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you are okay with it being recorded?

00:35:43 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

For the third time, you know.

00:35:45 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:35:46 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 2:

Caleb, she needs to get that okay just so that we can tell you what we're about to tell you right now, and that is that we are going to send those flowers off to Amaya.

00:35:57 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 5:

Put them on speakerphone.

00:35:58 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. We're just hanging out here. I'll explain to you. This is the Mojo in the Morning show, and Amaya is very happy because you sent flowers to her because she's on the phone listening to you right now.

00:36:17 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, why is she on the phone with...

00:36:22 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 2:

Amaya called us up because she was worried that the two of you were a little too distant from each other, and she was making sure that you are still thinking of her, and you just sent her the flowers and wrote her a very, very nice card. And Amaya, you want to say something to Caleb?

00:36:42 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:36:45 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 2:

What do you want to say, Amaya? I'm scared.

00:36:48 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 4:

i just thought that we were on the outs again this has been a one and off and i just felt like you were seeing someone else and you doesn't you don't spend the time with me and uh don't answer my calls like you used to it's like what's up you can put me on the back burner i would you

00:37:09 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 5:

You thought I was cheating on you? Dude, if anyone's cheating on anyone, it's you cheating on me.

00:37:14 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 4:

How am I cheating on you? And you stop calling me. You don't answer my call. Who are you talking about?

00:37:22 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on one second here. Hold on. Amaya, you should be happy. He sent the flowers to you. He talked about how...

00:37:31 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate it. Thank you. But now he's trying to accuse me of cheating. No, no, no.

00:37:35 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 2:

And Caleb, you have a trusted...

00:37:39 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 4:

with him with Amaya yeah wait a minute you were always we was always hanging out we very seldom see one another maybe if once a week so what is it not you don't even post me on social media you started that i didn't ask you to do that why are you guys fighting when you guys have a good situation here but why what what you don't have the time like you used to

00:38:19 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 5:

now what what's the excuse to what did i don't post you on social media i don't even post on social media that much like what are you talking about you're the one driving male co-workers home every day for work. Why are we so angry?

00:38:34 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 2:

Why is this such an angry situation right now? What's the co-worker saying? Amaya, be happy. He sent you the flowers.

00:38:44 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm very happy. You don't sound happy. Yeah, I'm angry.

00:38:49 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 2:

And Caleb, you sound like you're miserable too and you got trust issues too. You guys got to...

00:38:55 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 1:

Figure that out.

00:38:56 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 2:

Yes, spend time with each other.

00:39:00 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's what we need to do. Oh, you don't know And I think that's what we need to do Hold on

00:39:08 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 2:

Hold on one second, okay Hold on This is the home of War of the Roses I absolutely love it Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses Amaya And gets the flowers and still gets angry, still upset. But does she have a point? Is there something there? Is there something going on? Comments from listeners here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Linda, what's up? It's War of the Roses. What's going on?

00:39:45 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo, good morning. So we can't pass what he said. He said that she's driving male coworkers home every single day. Okay. So have they talked about it? Is that something he doesn't like? external.

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 2:

Why is she still doing it?

00:40:01 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 4:

Let's talk about this for a second because we did ask her that question. And I will tell you this. I wish I had the tape running when it was going on. Asked her about that. She said that it was a one-time deal, something that he's upset about. He obviously still is bringing this thing up. That is a very good point. These guys have an issue as far as trust is concerned. but is him throwing that back in her face a way to deflect off of himself because a lot of people would say the moment that he just goes well you're the one that's cheating makes you think that there's something going on there what are your thoughts on that linda uh i think it's a

00:40:42 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 2:

double-edged sword because i feel like women do this every day and now men are starting to do it every single day because i've had situations where i've been accused off of one thing that was miscommunicated and in that case i'm leaving because at that point you don't trust me and you

00:41:02 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 4:

don't trust my words so what are we even doing yeah no i listen i get you that there is something to these guys um i thought it was just a nice thing like the guy sent the flowers i mean it was not even a question and i don't think he knew who we were so it wasn't that so don't anybody get into that deal i mean the guy would you know kind of mumbled his way through the whole war of the roses um but uh she was not happy and uh they do not seem honestly they didn't sound like a match like they didn't sound usually when you get couples that are on and you talk to them you're like oh these guys actually sound like they're into each other they don't sound like they're

00:41:38 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 1:

into each other they both started like they were or they both sounded excuse me like they were

00:41:41 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 5:

trying to pick a fight yeah but like to her point though it seems like he's been pulling back

00:41:45 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 1:

yeah the all of a sudden not posting and i said this when we were talking to her get that to me is a is a really big thing if you're posting posting posting posting and then

00:41:54 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 4:

all of a sudden it's like nothing yeah why um i i do want to ask this question about posting i want to ask the question about the amount of times that your significant others should post you or you know if they don't post you because i think that there are some people that look at it as there has to be a certain amount of posts about you yeah in order for you to be out there to every one of their people that follow them you know it's kind of it so you know what it's kind of like it's like you know how dogs uh mark their territory it's your version of marking your

00:42:33 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 5:

territory of peeing on your spot crazy analogy i've been in relationships now i'm obviously i'm on the radio and i think the gifts that god have given me has given me has put me in positions to where i have to be public even though i prefer to be private so my personal life outside of like this and the things that i do i don't like talking about my personal life like my friends have been like we've learned more about you on this show than we've known about your entire life that's just how I live yeah in relationships I'm kind of the same way but I've been involved with people who felt this though and I don't know if it's insecurity or if it's just the times of social media that we're in that if you're not quote-unquote showcasing me or posting me you must mean or that must mean you're hiding me yeah and it doesn't always equate in that way it's just I don't want the world to be into something that's so private and so sacred Wes dated a girl that

00:43:26 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 1:

was this was a topic of conversation and a point of contention between them all the time and he said she would constantly either be sending him photos to post of her or they would get into arguments of why he was not posting her and it was it was one of the reasons why he was like this

00:43:44 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 4:

person is not my person yeah 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to talk about that about not posting on social media and does that equate to cheating uh or hiding something what's up tyler

00:43:58 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

hi hey good morning everybody um i don't think that posting your significant other on social media is necessary at all um i think doing too much of that is actually unhealthy or maybe there's like some unhealthy reasons underlying why that's happening i just am speaking from experience here what's your experience so my uh the relationship i was in before the one i'm currently in um she would post not i wouldn't say super frequently but it was a lot more frequently than me i just wouldn't really post other than big occasions you know maybe a birthday or something like that but it was randomness but it was also it seemed like possessiveness and looking back on it now being removed there were a lot of signs like in the relationship going on at the time as well that I It was...

00:45:00 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 6:

ignorant to um but now my girlfriend and i don't post each other on social media at all and there's

00:45:06 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 5:

still issues there so that's an interesting one i i do think that if if things go through a drastic change where somebody you know uh doesn't now all of a sudden post and they were posting before it does make me think that but they can also go back and look at the past posts and realize they're in a relationship um but uh dave on what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

00:45:30 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 3:

what's going on what's going on so my perspective i think maybe amaya needs to take a step back think of things through with the whole taking the guy home from work with her boyfriend posting her and you know they going out on days probably doing the work for and then she posts him it probably felt like a little embarrassing especially if she didn't communicate that with help. So they really just got a lot of bad miscommunication going on. But the whole posting on social media thing, that's only as important as the two individuals make it. So since it's very important to her, he should at least oblige her and tell her why he's not doing it.

00:46:10 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think so. I think if that's something that she wants, let her have a little bit of that.

00:46:15 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 4:

I get it, but I always think of why. Why do you need it so bad?

00:46:20 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 5:

Because it makes her feel more secure, yeah.

00:46:23 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 4:

Then am I not doing something that I need to be doing in a relationship where the only thing, but I'm saying that's weak as hell. If the way that you feel secure in our relationship is because I post you.

00:46:33 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 5:

No, but there's got to be other stuff there.

00:46:35 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 1:

I hear what you're saying. I think it's, I think it's what Mojo said of then it's public. Then everybody knows. No, look, we know, we all know people who are posting the hell out of their significant others and they're still doing stuff behind the scenes. So that is definitely not a guarantee that that person is, right.

00:46:54 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 5:

But there's also a drastic change in us. He used to post her. Now he's not posting her.

00:46:58 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 4:

That's why I asked, was it willingly or was it because I've been in relationships where people say, I need you to post me. And I was like forced to do it. Hey, Cass, what's up?

00:47:06 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I would just like to say with the posting thing, some people post too much, right, all the time. I think if you're avoiding posting me, if we're out to dinner and you're just posting the plate, that's the problem. I mean, if we're on vacation and you're just posting to stand and I'm right next to you, that's a problem.

00:47:26 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 5:

I agree with that.

00:47:27 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 7:

But if you're at home and you're like, oh, I'm planting roses today, I'm not there. But if it's something where I should be included, I would feel some kind of way. Because some people post like I'm painting my nails. Okay, well, who cares, right?

00:47:42 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 5:

Right, exactly, yeah.

00:47:43 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 7:

You can tell that they're avoiding it. But, like, the last caller, if it's an issue, just throw him in there. Hey, remember this guy? I'm still with you. Exactly, yeah. Like, text obliged sometimes.

00:47:55 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I agree with you. Capri, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:00 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 8:

Hey, you guys. I just wanted to say, because I've been in situations where I was in a relationship, and he was posting me, but he was cheating. So I learned from that, and I never post my significant other on social media, because it's embarrassing to be with someone and they're posting you for the world to see as if they're so madly in love and then all the time, the whole time they're cheating on you and then you not knowing this and you're posting them and now you look stupid.

00:48:27 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 5:

So you let that one time change you as far as being that scarred that you won't post anybody now? Absolutely. How many times do you mean? I won't do it. Why do you, if that was the case, then all of a sudden you're going to say the first time a guy cheats on you, you're going to girls because why do you got to do that? You know what I mean? Like, I think you got to give it a little bit, you know, of that was just him. Lisa, what's up?

00:48:53 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo. How's it going?

00:48:55 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 5:

You know what? Lisa, it's going good. How much are you posting your man?

00:49:00 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 6:

Well, I don't really post him because I've actually been in a relationship with him for eight years, and he's never once posted anything about me.

00:49:08 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay, there's something there. What does he post on his social media?

00:49:11 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 6:

um well he supposedly says that he doesn't post anything but as we know there's a way to hide those kind of things or hide your postings from your significant other so it's always been a sore spot for us he just tells me i'm never on facebook but you know that he posts but he specifically hides you from seeing it no i don't know if he posts because as we all know there is a way to block yes certain people from seeing your post so i always had people kind of check up on his profile to see if he's posted anything has it ever happened that we've been together for

00:49:48 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 2:

eight years pardon has it ever happened that he did post something and then blocked you from seeing

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 6:

it um well i've posted things on his social media and then he they disappear okay that's so

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 5:

See, we need to get Nicole on the phone.

00:50:02 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 4:

So you tag him in it, and it will go up on his social, and he'll go back to it, and he'll block it so that it doesn't show.

00:50:10 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, he denies that he does it, but I'll post something. Like, if it's his birthday, I'll post, and then it's gone. It's gone a few minutes later. But we've been together eight years, and even some of his friends, we ran into a golf outing, and they asked who I am. What? Are you serious?

00:50:29 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 4:

Lisa, there's something to that. I know. That's weird. Man, why are you staying in this?

00:50:36 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't know. We've been together, like I said, for eight years, but pretty much most of the important people in his life don't even know I exist. Wow.

00:50:47 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 5:

Do you all have children together?

00:50:49 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 3:

No, we're beyond that point. Okay.

00:50:52 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's amazing. That is really kind of sad. That makes me really sad. It's not uncommon, though. So, I mean, we got, hold on a second, we got...

00:51:00 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 2:

There are guys that don't post, period. That don't have social media, period. But to have it and to only block your significant other of eight years from seeing stuff is...

00:51:10 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, she's... Well, but she also says that it's not even so much blocking from seeing it. She'll post something that gets on his account.

00:51:17 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 2:

No, I know.

00:51:17 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 4:

And then he'll purposely go to it and take it off.

00:51:20 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I understand that part, but did you hear what else she said of... You know, if you post a story, you can select certain people that you don't want to see that story. And that's what he was doing to her. Yeah.

00:51:28 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 5:

But he's doing it in real life.

00:51:30 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 4:

That's a crazy one.

00:51:31 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 5:

Because your friends don't even know her.

00:51:33 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 4:

All right. War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:37 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the dirty on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:44 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 4:

All right. Time now for our summer of cars, cash, and gas. A chance to win a brand new car or $20,000 cash from Gordon Chevrolet. Your opportunity right now. 95th caller, qualify for that by winning a free Kroger gas card from Green Flame Tequila. Good luck. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller. Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what's up in the Dirty on the 30?

00:52:13 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, last night at the ESPYs, comedian Shane Gillis was hosting, And he was, I mean, he was making some jokes during his monologue. Athletes, coaches, public figures, nobody was safe, including Caitlin Clark.

00:52:31 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 1:

When Caitlin Clark retires from the WNBA, she's going to work at a Waffle House so she can continue doing what she loves most, fist-fighting black women.

00:52:42 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 2:

He was cracking jokes about Jeffrey Epstein.

00:52:46 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 1:

actually there was supposed to be an epstein joke here but as it got deleted must have uh probably deleted itself right probably never existed actually let's move on as a country and ignore that uh bill belichick and

00:53:04 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 2:

his much younger girlfriend also a topic of conversation for him also i'm not trashing

00:53:09 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

bill belichick first off he's 73 years old he's dating a hot 24 year old and people are criticizing What happened to this country? It used to be a great country. He won six Super Bowls. Yeah. He's dating a hot 24-year-old. Maybe if you guys won six Super Bowls, you wouldn't be sitting next to a fat, ugly dog wife.

00:53:31 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 5:

Dog wife is crazy.

00:53:34 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 4:

You don't like Shane Gillis, do you?

00:53:35 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you turn me on the tires. I think that show is pretty funny. I think some of his jokes are funny. Not everything is funny. I think the Trump joke he did was funny. I thought the Epstein thing was funny. I thought some of the WNBA stuff made me chuckle, but I'm not about to laugh if it ain't funny.

00:53:49 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 4:

You didn't like the WNBA joke. You are very protective of the WNBA. Which one? The one where he said that the all-star was in the audience. I got to pull that one. The all-star player was in the audience, and then they show him, and he goes, just show you how much you guys know about the WNBA. That's my buddy and his wife.

00:54:11 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 5:

That was funny. That one was more like people clap at everything at award shows. So it was like they were going to clap regardless. So that's how my brain works.

00:54:19 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 4:

Zach and I were dying with that one. That was a good joke. We both love Shane Gillis. That was great.

00:54:24 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 5:

That's cool for y'all.

00:54:25 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 2:

Some of the, I'm not going to go through all the awards. Best athlete in women's sports went to Simone Biles. Best athlete in men's sports. What did she do this year?

00:54:35 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 4:

There was no gymnastics stuff this year.

00:54:37 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 5:

It's only July. I think this is more in reference to the previous year where she won at the Olympics. They didn't want to give it to Kaitlyn Clark.

00:54:42 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 2:

She didn't even make the playoffs. She got best WNBA player.

00:54:46 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 4:

But the best female athlete in the world right now is Kaitlyn Clark. She's the most talked about female athlete in the world.

00:54:53 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 5:

Just because you're the most talked about doesn't mean you're the best.

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

She's the Michael Jordan of women's basketball.

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

This is her second year.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 1:

She can win every single year.

00:55:02 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 2:

The Philadelphia Eagles took home the best team award. What else? Best NFL player, Saquon Barkley. Best MLB player, Shohei Otani. And I don't know how to say this guy's name. Who was the best NHL player? Try, try, try. Leon Drisadl from the Oilers? No.

00:55:19 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, I don't know that.

00:55:20 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't watch.

00:55:23 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 1:

Leon Drisadl.

00:55:24 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

Is that how you say it?

00:55:25 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:55:26 - 00:55:26 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:55:26 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't trust your pronouns. I don't trust your pronouns. If it's hockey, I'm probably going to trust them. Moving on, another dirty today. Have you guys ever had a Mexican Coke?

00:55:37 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 1:

No, I've never heard of that.

00:55:39 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 2:

Like if you go to a Mexican restaurant or have you ever had a Coke in another country?

00:55:42 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:55:43 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 2:

They're so different because they're made with real cane sugar instead of like high fructose corn syrup and all of the other crap that's in our Coca-Colas. Well, President Trump says he has persuaded Coca-Cola to make Coke sugary again. said he's going to be speaking to Coke about using real cane sugar in Coke in the United States. And he says they have apparently agreed to do so. Coca-Cola not confirming that change. But a spokesperson last night did say they appreciate President Trump's enthusiasm and more details on new innovative offerings within the Coca-Cola product range will be shared soon.

00:56:15 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 1:

And he's a Diet Coke drinker, which has all the chemicals in it. He's okay with that.

00:56:19 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 2:

Diet Coke's so gross.

00:56:20 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 1:

I thought this was interesting. These are some of the things, though, that have kind of changed in the food over the last, I don't know, six months or seven months. Uh, Steak and Shake has moved to 100% beef tallow for their, uh, French fries, which by the way, beef tallow, if you ever tried a beef tallow French fry, it's delicious. Um, PepsiCo has removing artificial ingredients from popular food items. In-N-Out Burger will remove Red Dye 40 and Yellow 5 in artificial flavors. Skittles removing titanium dioxide from Skittles. Now, the stuff that's not happening, M&M's is fighting on the whole color thing. They're keeping the chemicals in that give the color the extra pop. M&M's? M&M's. And they're saying that they're not going to change that, and they're going to wait until it becomes like a law, or if it becomes a law, that they have to change that. Which is kind of interesting that they would like to want to stay with the whole we'll keep it chemically just because people want to see it.

00:57:18 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 2:

And that's your argument. We're going to keep the chemicals.

00:57:21 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, they said that there's no law, and they say that they don't know if there is proof that it does do anything, which a lot of people would say, why do we need to wait for proof when it's just an extra chemical?

00:57:33 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 2:

I had a bag of M&M's at the movies the other day. I have M&M's every single day because we have them here in the kitchen at the radio station. Oh, yeah. In the gumball machine as M&M's. And lastly, yesterday, the trailer for the first part of the final season of Stranger Things on Netflix, dropped. I'm going to play you just a little piece of it. Wherever this blood leads. The crew reuniting for one final stand against a force darker than any they've ever seen. Everybody's back. Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolford, the whole crew. November, though, is when the first part of that drops. November 26th, I believe. So right around Thanksgiving. Hey, for everything you missed today, check out the podcast on the free

00:58:19 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 1:

iHeartRadio app. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30? Your call may be monitored or recorded. Right, the winner is Lindsay. Yeah, Lindsay! She's from Redford, Michigan. Hi, Lindsay. Hi, Mojo! Even though I have now heard that you don't like my name. How did I say that? I didn't say that just now. I said that maybe the other day. I said Lindsay is one of those names where I always think of Lindsay as being the bad girl. in, like, the mean girl. I think it's because of Lindsay Lohan. I don't know, Lindsay.

00:58:56 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. I'm so sweet, I think.

00:58:59 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 1:

Are you really? All right. Well, let's see. When you win this car, I want to see what your reaction is. A 2025 loaded Chevy Trax. Congratulations. Thank you. That's going to be great. I surely hope I win. I love it. By the way, I don't know if you feel that way at all towards certain names. Are there certain names that you always think of? Like, Karen, obviously, you think of him as a Karen, right? A Chad's always a Chad. Well, are there certain names that do you discriminate against certain names? Like, do you ever have that happen to you? I feel like people used to say, Tiffany's restrained.

00:59:34 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 2:

I really just don't like the name Rebecca.

00:59:36 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 1:

What were you going to say, Lindsay?

00:59:38 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 2:

I really don't like the name Rebecca because I just don't like the name Becky.

00:59:41 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny about the Rebecca part is the Rebecca always, to me, comes across as the boss. Like she's a bossy person Because of my great friend Rebecca Falk God rest her soul But Rebecca was always kind of bossy Now it's not a bad thing But that was how Rebecca was So any Rebecca after that Became a bossy

01:00:00 - 01:00:05 | Speaker 2:

person like do you ever have that with names where certain names are like that yeah yeah for sure

01:00:05 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 1:

like what i'm not saying i honestly god cannot think of one but for sure like if you say a name this is why it's so like parents know this pain when you're trying to think of a name for a baby yeah because you're throwing out names and you're like nope she was kind of slutty in high school Or, no, I know a girl at work, and she's horrible, you know.

01:00:28 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 2:

Like, Caleb is a frat boy, you know? He's a frat bro. Brock. Brock, total college frat kid. Brock is a kid that wears, you know, polos, you know what I mean? Like, he's like one of those guys. I want to know the name and what is the rash generalization that you would like to say about the name. Like, what is the one name that kind of changes you? Do you have any examples of this? Anybody have examples of this?

01:00:53 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. All my bad names come from exes.

01:00:56 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:00:56 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 3:

And the first names that come to my mind.

01:00:58 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 2:

Heather always, to me, was hot. Heather was hot, and it was the girl that I could never get to date with.

01:01:03 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:01:04 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

You know?

01:01:06 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 3:

Y'all never met a Bambi? No. No. Bambi? Where are you hanging out at? A strip club? I knew a girl named Summer. I thought that was so beautiful. I used to play soccer at LaVon. Y'all was like 11 years old on the playground. I was like, what's her name?

01:01:17 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

Summer's like a cute girl name, for sure.

01:01:19 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 2:

How does a Summer, though, become a grandma? Like, I don't, I've never seen Summer as a 60-year-old or a 70-year-old.

01:01:26 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 3:

She got to be from the South.

01:01:27 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 2:

Summer?

01:01:28 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like tea in her hands. Right. A little sweet tea. It's got to be sweet tea. Grandma Summer.

01:01:34 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 2:

Lindsey, hang on the phone, and we're going to get you set up with your prize here, okay? A $50 gas card, and you're now qualified for the car, okay? If your name Rodney, you owe somebody money.

01:01:44 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm going to say.

01:01:45 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember the other morning when we had the 5 of 655 person in, and her boyfriend's name was Leon? Yes, yes. Like, that might have been the first white Leon. No, it was Leroy. It was Leroy. It was Leroy. Leroy. How about a Leon? How about a white Leon?

01:01:58 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hell no. He better know how to sing.

01:02:00 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Abby? How you doing?

01:02:01 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 1:

Leon, you've been in trouble with the law. How are you, Mojo?

01:02:03 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 5:

Good.

01:02:04 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:02:06 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 5:

So, the name that I don't like is Rachel.

01:02:11 - 01:02:12 | Speaker 2:

What does Rachel give to you?

01:02:12 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 5:

Really, really harsh. What's that? Why? What kind of vibe?

01:02:18 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 2:

What kind of vibe do you get off of Rachel?

01:02:20 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 5:

So every single Rachel that I've met has never, never been nice.

01:02:24 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Wow. Meany weenies. Interesting.

01:02:27 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 5:

Did you say meany weenies?

01:02:29 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

Yes. The next caller, by the way, his name is Rachel. Rachel, did you hear what she just said?

01:02:36 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I totally did. Oh, my gosh. I'm really a kind person. I promise.

01:02:42 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

What's your name, Rachel? What's the name that you want to call out?

01:02:45 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 6:

So for me, it's Katie. So to me, Katie is just like a stuck-up, really snotty person. And so I know many Katies that fit that description.

01:02:56 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. By the way, hold on. The next caller is Katie. No, I'm just kidding. That would have been the best. No, actually, the next name is Shannon, who's on here with us right now. I heard Shannons are easy. Is that right, Shannon? Yeah. sure they are what's yours good morning guys good morning what's the name danny danny is a

01:03:24 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 7:

horrible name dannys are horrible people and nobody should ever date or go out with a danny i'm guessing you broke up with a danny oh my god it was the most horrible relationship i've ever been in and if anybody says the name danny around me they get daggerized oh wow what what is danny's

01:03:41 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 2:

Danny's don't care about the ladies, you're saying, huh?

01:03:44 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 3:

No, don't date Danny's, guys. Don't date Danny's. You go out to eat, get a Danny as a waiter, you go on to another table. Okay, period, immediately.

01:03:55 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, Shannon. Lacey, now Lacey is a – Lacey, I'm guessing that you got, like, the hottest body in the world, Lacey. You have to have that if your name is Lacey.

01:04:08 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm wrong.

01:04:09 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

Wrong. You know what, though? That's good to know that. That's good to know that we've got some Lacey's without hot bodies here. Who are you calling out, Lacey?

01:04:20 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 4:

The name Jeremy. What's up with Jeremy?

01:04:24 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 3:

What did he do?

01:04:26 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Because nobody can say that name right. Everybody always says it as Jeremy.

01:04:31 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 3:

Jeremy.

01:04:32 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

That is true. People do say Jeremy. Yeah, say it so fast. But what does that mean? Is it mean, is Jeremy a bad guy? I always think that Jeremy is kind of, this is my prediction of Jeremy, white dude from Rochester, played on the, I don't know, didn't play basketball, played on the football team, was the backup running back. I don't know. I got a whole different vision. What do you got?

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 4:

He got, like, a mullet where, like, the circle part of his head is bald head. He didn't work at Kinko's.

01:05:06 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 5:

He didn't work at Kinko's.

01:05:07 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 4:

There's no Kinko's anymore.

01:05:09 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 5:

I guess he got a boy.

01:05:12 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 4:

He got a fat brown leather belt.

01:05:15 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 5:

What's up? Is it Ayana?

01:05:19 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 2:

Ayana.

01:05:19 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 5:

Ayana. What's going on, Ayana? I don't like her.

01:05:23 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how are you?

01:05:24 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 5:

Good. What name's you calling out?

01:05:25 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 2:

uh for females if your name is ashley i'm not talking to you we're not friends we're not engaging at all okay um they are just in my experience and my fiance's experience they are

01:05:40 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 5:

just pure psychopaths okay ashley's a psycho any any guys names you want to call out

01:05:48 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 2:

mark i will not talk to anyone with a mark when i was dating someone i was dating and looking before my fiance, if your name was Mark, I'm swiping locked. I'm not even talking to you. Don't talk to me. Don't, nothing. I don't want anything to do with you.

01:06:04 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 5:

That's interesting. I didn't realize Mark's hurt people like that, too. Ashley's and Mark. What if Ashley's married to Mark? Are you happy?

01:06:13 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 2:

They can be miserable together. Just don't come by me.

01:06:18 - 01:07:03 | Speaker 5:

Adam is on the phone. I've got some calls on Adam. Adam, black hair, walking around with a pair of khaki shorts on and wearing a pair of Nike 1s. What do you got on? What's going on? You're close. Who are you calling out, Adam? Brad. Brad. Oh, that's a good one. That's my best buddy's name. What are you going to say? Why? They're one-uppers. Brad's a one-upper? Every time they talk too much And they're one-upper Is your Brad a one-upper? No, Brad's actually a kind-hearted guy He's a sweetheart I don't know Brad Hi, Brad What's going on?

01:07:03 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Brad This is great

01:07:09 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 5:

By the way, this is my favorite The best part about it is There are people right now texting us at 95500 And they're texting us defense of their name because they just heard what their names were all about call in sarah is a mental health therapist sarah call out your crazy client names not necessarily crazy it's just one of those that

01:07:31 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 3:

like i just can't do it like i'm like if what you know like when we had our daughter like my husband would give a name and i'm like nope had a client that name yeah i can't do it It makes it so hard.

01:07:44 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 5:

That has to be tough. Like if you're a school teacher, imagine being a school teacher trying to name your kid and all you think about is that snot-nosed little brat that was sitting in your class. I never thought about that with the therapist.

01:07:55 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Same concept.

01:07:57 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:08:00 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 3:

Thanks. Shout out to all the kids who could never find their name on a souvenir keychain or license plate. What's your name? Thaddeus. Good luck with that one, sport. It's Mojo in the morning.

01:08:10 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 5:

All right, Mojo on the morning show. Cav wants to ask a question here right now, and you still haven't figured out where Josiah's going to school in a month or so?

01:08:21 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 4:

I haven't, and we're searching. I feel like we're getting closer and closer, but I really need your support, you guys in the studio, and our listeners as well if they have a perspective because I don't have a dog in the fight either way. My entire life I've been in public education, proud member of Detroit Public Schools. All I know is public schools. That's right, damn it. Same. All I know is public schools. Yeah. But some of the schools that we're touring and visiting and are thinking about sending Josiah to our private schools. And none of my I don't believe any of my family members have ever been enrolled in public or private education. So I really don't know what the difference is, what the pros are, what the cons are. Now, on these tours we've gone to, one of the things that the private school has said is that public schools have to abide by whatever the state says should be taught. so they can receive that state funding. And private schools don't necessarily have to abide. I don't know if that's good or bad, but they kind of get to choose a different way of teaching.

01:09:18 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 5:

What's the reputation of the Detroit public schools?

01:09:21 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 4:

People say they ain't teaching them. The teachers aren't. It's always negative.

01:09:25 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 5:

Why did I? Because there's a lot of charter schools, too. Yeah.

01:09:28 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 1:

I was on the school board for a charter school in Detroit for a decade. Yeah. Covenant House Academy.

01:09:34 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 5:

I always thought that there was one of those things where there was like an image or a stigma to certain schools.

01:09:41 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 4:

I think there's a negative stigma for the entire city of Detroit.

01:09:45 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 5:

You know what I mean?

01:09:46 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 4:

It's been that way for years and years and years, and education was just one of those things.

01:09:49 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

But I see it with public schools in the suburbs, too, because our kids started off in public schools. They went to West Bloomfield Public Schools, and then eventually Chelsea wanted them to have a little bit of religion in their life. So then we transformed.

01:10:00 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 4:

of them to a catholic school which i will say this to you out of the both i think it's based on the kid not the actual school um yep and i think that joe and luke needed extra pushing jacob didn't jacob would have been great at anything like jacob would have been great homeschooling um where the others wouldn't and um so they so we kind of changed it but i will say this to you the one thing i did like about going to cat the catholic school thing was i liked the fact that it was a little bit smaller smaller classrooms class sizes and i honestly i hate to say this the teachers didn't bitch at all and no offense to teachers because teachers have a hard job but i always felt like when when they were in the public school that the kids the teachers were always complaining about what they weren't getting and you know all the bad stuff we're in the catholic school they were making even less than the public school teachers or they i didn't

01:10:52 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 3:

hear the teachers sitting there complaining about things are you more so speaking in terms of them being supported in their role i felt like having a resource to get things done all that i felt like

01:11:03 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 4:

the teachers that the kids had and it wasn't all of them but there were some of them that would always sit there and complain about we can't do that no we can't do it that's not that's not the state won't let us do it or whatever the your the superintendent won't allow us to do this stuff and then when they went to catholic school you never heard that and i think a lot might have been that maybe the parents stepped up a little bit more and helped out a little bit more um and And there were some in the public school that just didn't have the means to do that. But I didn't ever see the teachers complaining, like, this school doesn't pay me enough. It never came. And Luke went from kindergarten or pre-K all the way through high school. Joe and Jacob went to just high school at the private school. Never did they ever have that. So it's interesting. What are the ideas? Are you going to try to get him into a school like how you did more of an art school? Are you going to get him into a school that's more technical based because he's got such a great mind when it comes to art?

01:12:03 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 3:

My goal would be art because that's something that not only does he enjoy doing now, but he's already mentioned that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. So getting him familiar with, you know, certain art is his thing, but getting him familiar with different mediums that maybe he hasn't been exposed to before that maybe he could find interest in. but he's like a 4.0 student so I don't want to only support the art and then not care about the mathematics and the sciences and all of that so if there's like a happy medium where they

01:12:31 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 2:

support both and give what is he what is he like because you said he've toured all these schools and obviously he's been with you what is he kind of leaning towards he liked the last school we went to he did which was public or private it's a private school yeah what is his mom like she

01:12:45 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 3:

liked it too yeah we just want to your point we just want to find the best thing for joe but I want us to be incredibly intentional and not just say okay here's a neighborhood school or this this school is five minutes up the road it's convenient let's just go there like i don't want

01:12:57 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 4:

to operate like that can i just say this he's moved a bunch of schools since i've known you probably like two yeah two and he went virtual so i think i went to the same school from start to finish and i feel like that helped me a lot friendship wise consists indeed what's up hather

01:13:11 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 1:

what are your thoughts my thoughts are that private school is definitely much better than public school public school it just seems that they pump them out and there's so many kids per class that like they don't get the attention or the care that they need to grow where do your kids go private school uh my kids are all grown up and gone and where did they go well when one went to a catholic school she went to charter schools and the fourth one just preferred to stay in public school which she didn't want to go into yeah a private school but like i find the ones that

01:13:48 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 2:

were in private schools were much better educated i was a public school kid through yeah i was a public school kid through and through and i feel like i got and shout out to crucial public schools i feel like i got such a great education all the way through um and so it's interesting now like Wes's kids go to private school mine have been in public school and then when it came time to decide where Lucy was going to go to middle school like this became a discussion for us too Kev and it's a world that I don't know anything about because I had such a positive experience in public school that that wasn't even on my radar you know that's another thing I think about too though is like

01:14:28 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 3:

to your point about I had such a positive experience I'm just a kid so like I really don't know anything beyond i didn't know any different yeah so i'm like true i don't want to

01:14:38 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

but some kids have horrible experiences you know bullying and things like that i i think schools are different than when we went to school though like i i really do i don't know maybe maybe they're not and i just looked at it differently and through kid eyes but i felt like i went to catholic school for 12 years and all my buddies went to the public school they had a great time Like they had more, you know, fun.

01:15:00 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 3:

but they also got really highly, you know, good education and stuff. Like, they did good, you know, in college, and they actually had really good careers. But I just feel like nowadays it just seems like it's a different world out there. The other thing, too, is getting into colleges is another thing. Like, I feel like all these kids get so much pressure going into colleges, and sometimes I think that there's an advantage to what school you go to. Yeah. Yeah, without a doubt.

01:15:23 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 5:

Resources.

01:15:24 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 3:

Angela, what's up?

01:15:26 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, everybody. How are you? Good.

01:15:28 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:15:29 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 5:

Nothing. I just called a comment. So I drive my son. My commute's an extra hour and a half for my son in the morning during school, the school year, just so I can take him to a different public school district because I do not like the one that I'm in. And I can't afford private school, which I would love to do. But when looking into it, it's so expensive. Wow, that is a lot of time.

01:15:53 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 3:

Is that a school of choice?

01:15:54 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 5:

No, so I live in Centerline, and then I drive out to Utica School in Macomb, and then I come down to work right down the street from you guys in Corktown. So it's a bit of a hike. I mean, you're a great mom for doing that and recognizing that. I'm not going to take that education away from him and rip him away from all his friends just for the convenience of, you know, a bus or a school around the corner when I was not impressed with.

01:16:24 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Can I also say this, though, in defense of the parents that can't do that, you know, their circumstances could be different. The idea that you do that is wonderful. You're a great mom, but so is the great the moms who are really focused on making sure that their kids get a good education and don't have the time to do that driving.

01:16:44 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 5:

If they're bringing their kids to school, hey, get those kids in school, no matter where they are. They need that education.

01:16:50 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the call. Hold on. We got a teacher on the phone that would like to give us their opinion of this one. I like to hear from an educator's point of view. Rayanne?

01:17:01 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. What's going on? First of all, I want to say first time, long time. Rayanne's on the phone. Yes. I've been waiting for that. Okay. I am a public school teacher. I am very passionate about public schools. maybe to a fault but i want to say first of all from the education experience that josiah would get personally i believe that public school teachers um are better supported because of their union and they're paid better so they oftentimes want to stay in their job and have that consistency throughout the year and also private schools don't always have to have certified teachers okay they will like take someone and maybe pay for them to get like a year-long emergency thing before they actually are certified and have that degree when you say they're better

01:17:57 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 3:

supported and better paid are they also better protected when it comes to like some of the

01:18:01 - 01:18:23 | Speaker 2:

bad teachers get to stick around a lot yes but there's yes and no to that they are better protected because they can't just get fired for no reason. Like we see on TikTok there are some private school teachers that love their kids and then they just get fired because they said something wrong and a parent didn't like it. The union will stick up for the good ones

01:18:23 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 4:

as well. No, I need a private school teacher on the phone. Oh, you know what? I need to hear the other side.

01:18:29 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 3:

You know who you sound like, by the way? And this is kind of wild to hear you talk. I don't know if anybody else got this. She sounds like Remember Miss Teen, South Carolina? Do you remember that one?

01:18:41 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 4:

No, it's all saying, and such, and...

01:18:43 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 5:

But she can actually communicate her thoughts, whereas Miss Teen, South Carolina, could not.

01:18:50 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I'm talking about? Yes, and such, and... And such as, and such as. Like, hold on.

01:18:56 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 1:

Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is? i personally believe that u.s americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have that and i believe that our education like such as in south africa and the iraq everywhere like such as and

01:19:25 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 3:

It does not get old After all these years Just her voice sounded like that Not obviously what she said I'm joking I'm joking I am never calling back

01:19:39 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 4:

01:20:14 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 2:

Alright, are you ready?

01:20:16 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning

01:20:18 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo hat Let's go It's show time Alright, coming up this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show Shannon with the surgery gone wrong. Myself with, it's not fair, and I want to stand up for myself. Kev later is going to also talk this morning. Can someone say, hey, I'm on the way, or can they just show up? And then Cush and Tell is coming up here in just a little bit. So we'll give you a chance to go meet Wiz Khalifa, all coming up right here on the Mojo on the Morning Show. But the War of the Roses, this morning's War of the Roses, and I'm going to say this to you guys. When the War of the Roses happened, I thought to myself, I think this War of the Roses is a nothing burger. I thought that there was no no to it or no something to it. You know what I mean? Like it was a lot of nothing. The listeners are commenting on it. This War of the Roses had so many people listening to it. But Amaya, wanting to see what is up with her boyfriend because he won't post her on social, has gotten so many people to talk. And Bianca's working on the video of that to post up on TikTok. So go check that out. Plus, we'll have it on Instagram and Facebook, and we'd love to get your comments on it. And you'll hear that again before the end of the show. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. This is one of those situations where I have had a surgical procedure done or I've actually gone in for a medical procedure. And I've always been amazed when they'll ask you a million times your name, date of birth, and then they'll ask you what is it that you're getting done. And I always think that when they do that to me, they're trying to see if I'm like fooling them or something or not the right person. And then I hear this story and I realize, no, they're trying to make sure they don't have a major medical screw up. What happened?

01:22:11 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 1:

So I had to have a surgery last week. dad if you are listening I feel weird talking about this on the air because my dad isn't even aware that this is happening and he's a worrywart I am fine I am going to be fine just turn off the radio so I can call you later and talk to you about it but I had to have a biopsy last week excuse me where they took several they were going to take several tissue samples and like send them away to pathology or whatever it was not a fun surgical procedure whatsoever and there were a lot of tests that have led up to that point as well you heard me talking about this MRI I was you know afraid of this is all figuring into that so this has been a process I have the biopsy and then after the biopsy a couple of days later I had to go back and get an MRI to make sure that the place that they biopsied and they also put a marker in there as well to kind of keep track of what is going on in this area of my body so the MRI was to make sure that the place they biopsied and the place where they put the marker matched up to the spot that was in question from all of the other testing that I had had leading up to this point and I kept asking him like do I really need to get this done like this is basically double checking the work that was done and my doctor and the nurses were like yes this is standard procedure we have to do this I went in for the MRI last week and I even made a joke to the two MRI technicians who are both listeners by the way hi um i'm like has it ever happened that when you double check this that they actually did the surgery in the wrong place and both of them laughed it off and they're like no no well i guess i'm the first wow because they did the proceed they did the biopsy and put the marker in the wrong place so now i am back at square one is that not wild wow so how did they did they find

01:24:12 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 2:

that out when they went back in there again and and did it or what like how did that how did how

01:24:17 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

did you find first off who broke the news to you that that happened well i it gets updated in like your medical charts are all available online and a lot of the different hospital systems you get a little email saying hey you have an update to your medical chart and so I got that and I went in and I read it and I'm like wait a second I feel like I'm reading this wrong because to me they're saying that they the the two don't match up where they did the surgery and what they were kind of focused on and I'm like there's no way to the point where I put the results in chat GPT and said what does this mean and chat GPT confirmed it was not right it was done in the wrong spot so then I sent it to a nurse friend of mine and I said, am I reading this wrong? Am I?

01:25:00 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 6:

crazy and she's like nope it it was it's wrong how how in the actual heck how do they f this up

01:25:08 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 5:

and do they have a did they give you like this is what we did wrong this is how we messed up

01:25:14 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 6:

they what explanation can they provide uh well the the explanation is that it it was wrong we messed up no no no this is not my order at mcdonald's now i have to figure out what to do moving forward because obviously i am not super trusting right of this particular place which i'm not gonna say because obviously you know but wow i you know it's funny as i've seen those stories before and i've always wondered are you okay i am going to be fine okay yeah thank you for asking yes i'm gonna be fine i but i want to hear the stories of like well did they take off the wrong toe for you make me feel better here i've seen those stories where that has happened and it got

01:26:00 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

it has gotten me to laugh whenever i've gone in because i've gone in for shoulder surgery recently yeah i've had uh knee surgery i've had heart surgery and i always laugh when i've gone in for all of my surgeries shout out um michigan medicine love you guys they'll come in and they will pick a sharpie marker and go and they'll literally they'll do the air you're getting and they'll say to you in the thing that's chart um for what you know you're having your left shoulder uh you know whatever and they'll tell you and you go yes i am and they'll go okay that's what you know right yes okay that's what it says here boom and then they do the thing right there you know because i don't know if the left and the right get a little different no but you know what i mean like they're doing so many procedures and stuff and they don't want to screw it up but that's wild channel the wrong tooth honestly i i i would rather have it be my tooth like if i could choose

01:26:56 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 6:

anything yeah and that was the that was one of the things too well now i'm like oh gosh i'm back at square one i don't have any answers and also this was not a fun procedure to have and i'm thinking oh my god i am not doing that again but i have to what did dr warner think when this that

01:27:15 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 4:

happened because he obviously had to send you to somebody else was he pissed he yeah he's not he's not happy no yeah i've never even seen him i can only imagine dr warner and by the way dr warner is the best doctor in the whole entire world one of the things i've always realized with mark and and how great he is he holds us like we're his family you know and he does that with every one of his patients i could just see how upset he must have been when that happened what's up chas how

01:27:39 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 2:

you doing pretty good how are you good morning everyone morning what's going on buddy we're

01:27:44 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 4:

talking about this uh uh did you get the wrong leg taken off i mean what's the story so so i was

01:27:52 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 2:

talking with my mom a few years ago and uh i was talking about the whole like i wonder if anybody's had a bad surgery or whatever and she's like actually your aunt went to go get operated on and they did all the martins and whatnot on her left knee verified everything and whatnot when she woke up her right knee was the one that was operated on oh my gosh what how did they screw I have absolutely no idea, but she did sue, and she ended up winning.

01:28:18 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 4:

So, quick question. When they go in there, don't they notice that it's normal? Or can they not tell?

01:28:25 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 2:

You would think. Honestly, I have no idea, and that has to be such a big screw-up on somebody's part. It's right in front of you. Open your eyes a little bit and do the right thing. She's actually the one that when SeaWorld had that drowning with that orca that pulled that lady under, she's the one that actually called OSHA and was the one that had that whole situation go down and everything. It was pretty crazy.

01:28:52 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 3:

Man, so she's had a wild life, hasn't she? Yeah, she sure has.

01:28:57 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Bad operations, getting fired from jobs.

01:29:00 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 4:

Did she go on the SeaWorld vacation with the money she made from the bad surgery?

01:29:04 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 2:

She does not support them one bit.

01:29:07 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay, because I was going to say, like, where did she, all of a sudden, I win all this money. I'm going to be traveling the world. She bought her own orca. What's up, Sherry? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:29:19 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

01:29:20 - 01:29:21 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's going on?

01:29:22 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

When I had my second son, when they put the epidural in, they numbed me from my chest up, not my waist down. Oh, my God. Um, when, when they went to put, to take the epidural needle out to replace it, they snapped the needle off in my spine.

01:29:41 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 6:

Uh, that, the epidural was such a, I was so terrified of that and anything happening that that to me is a worst nightmare situation.

01:29:52 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 4:

What is this? Sherry, what did you, what did you get in your settlement?

01:29:58 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Um, nothing. They got me while I was.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 8:

I was all drugged up to sign off, and I didn't have to pay for the rest of my phone's delivery.

01:30:05 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 3:

And the lawyers say that that's the case? That's nuts.

01:30:09 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 8:

Yep, because they got me when I was drugged up, and I signed off on it. That makes no sense. Probably $100,000 plus, and they took care of $9,000 for me.

01:30:20 - 01:30:20 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:30:20 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 3:

Help me, man. What's going on, Katie?

01:30:26 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Yeah, so I had a lump in one of my breasts, and right before the surgery, the surgeon came in to mark me up on, like, which side, and I did the wrong one, and I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, it's the other one, so eventually it was corrected, but absolutely terrifying because I was, like, panicking beforehand, and I was like, that's not the right side. Thank God.

01:30:45 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that's not a fun procedure.

01:30:49 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Marie, what's up?

01:30:51 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 6:

Hey, guys. So I had a, my niece, we'll say it's my niece, was supposed to go in for an ovarian cyst removal, and they actually ended up doing a hysterectomy on her.

01:31:02 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:31:03 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 6:

And so, yeah. How old was she? Well, at the time, she was only 17. Oh, my God. Yeah, so, of course, depression and lawsuits are great, you know, but that was a rough one because we went through, we had everything marked. It was just a simple procedure for cyst removal, and she comes out, and now she's completely infertile. Oh, my God.

01:31:28 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that is horrible.

01:31:30 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 3:

How much money did she get in a legal battle?

01:31:36 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 6:

She's good. She's good. Her kids are good. We actually went with a very prominent attorney in Michigan, and she ended up getting a little over a mil, and once they take their stuff, a little over $700,000.

01:31:46 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 3:

See, I would think that's way more than a million-dollar settlement. I would think that's tens of millions of dollars.

01:31:52 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 6:

Well, this was a long time ago. This was about 20 years ago or so.

01:31:56 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 3:

There's that guy that got burned at the Kroger, that was working at the Kroger, got 20-some million dollars or whatever it was.

01:32:05 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, from that refrigerator.

01:32:06 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, from the refrigerator thing. I think being infertile for the rest of your life by a mistake like that is something that should definitely be paid. What's up, Jackie?

01:32:19 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time, long time. Hey, Jackie on the floor. But when I was younger, there was a routine tonsil surgery, and they forgot to take out a sliver of my tonsil, so it still, like, swells, and I get strep and stuff like that on that one part that my tonsil's still in.

01:32:41 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 4:

Man. See, this is where the robots need to come in, bro. I hate to say it. Yeah. You need to retire. These type of errors, they can't happen. It's one thing for me to order my Jets pizza and they come, you know what I'm saying, with some olives that I didn't order. It's a whole other thing for you to have to go inside of my body and remove something and you don't remove the right thing or you only get a piece of it. There has to be more accountability or consequences. This should not happen. Obviously, human error, but still, bro, it's too serious.

01:33:13 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

It depends on how hungry you are, though. If you're really wanting the pepperoni pizza. No, I will say this, though, that you think that we have it crazy where staffing is tough and everything. The problem is the human error is also bad with a lot of cases where there's a lot of people that probably, you know, that left the field, the medical field. I think COVID kind of changed things a little bit, too, with how people are looking. I have such huge love for anybody that is in the medical field, especially after what they dealt with in 2020. But, you know, I think these things are hopefully less frequent than we ever hear about. It's just hard when you know the person that it happened to.

01:33:57 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, at this point, I just want some answers.

01:34:01 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:34:01 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 2:

That's all.

01:34:02 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm not saying anything.

01:34:03 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 2:

Nothing else.

01:34:03 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 1:

He's cheating with you, but we'll never cheat on you. That's cute. Another War of the Roses is after nine on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:13 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 3:

That's why I always say whenever I screw up on this show and mess up saying something bad that I shouldn't be saying or stumbling or hitting the wrong button, thank God I ain't a brain surgeon or a heart surgeon or an orthopedic surgeon, right? Take the wrong ball.

01:34:30 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 4:

It's going to be a problem.

01:34:31 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 3:

Right. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. I got a question I want to ask. I want to know if there are any listeners of ours who have it that your significant others in you, you guys do find your iPhone and you can see where each other is at all times. Like you can kind of see their location at all times, the location services.

01:34:57 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 4:

I got friends that do that.

01:34:58 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

And then I want to ask this question.

01:35:00 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 5:

in with asking if you guys think that this is fair because I think this is not fair ready okay I have and I'll show it to you guys on my phone here I have on my phone find my phone put it in here I have on here find my phone settings that there are two people that follow me my wife and my father-in-law those are the two people that follow me so they can see where you are at all time they can see where i am at all time at any given time but i noticed this the other day when i wanted to know where chelsea was

01:35:38 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

she doesn't let me follow her when you say let me what is it have you ever asked her to yeah

01:35:46 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 5:

well i have said on her location yes i've said to her i go hey how come i don't follow you and she goes because why do you need to that was it so i'm like well then i'm going to take my find my off i'm gonna use that as my negotiation you can't tariff me if i can't tariff you gotta work both ways baby we call chelsea please will you give her a call for me is that like her full reason is just oh she's in a metal then no don't do that okay yeah don't that's not a good idea okay what's wrong chelsea's getting that she's a doctor right now okay um do is it fair to have one person follow and the other person not follow i would like to know i'm on your side i think you

01:36:28 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 4:

say no no i say no it's not fair i follow west and west follows me especially if we're married like i need to know where you are not not even in a possessive way not that i'm like controlling or not that i'm monitoring your every move or waiting for you at the light but just for i think

01:36:46 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

safety reasons we should probably know where each other are for me it's so helpful to know like if Wes is on his way home from work is you know stuff like that I think though that she

01:36:57 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 5:

thinks that I would use it more than just that like I would like you'd track her every move I

01:37:01 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

would it is crazy I mean you can see when somebody stopped like at a red light and honestly I think

01:37:10 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 5:

it started back in the day I think it started back in the day because I was leaving town to go somewhere and I think I remember I was leaving town and I think I was like you know what um I'm going away and i always send her my info like my flight info and hotel and stuff and i think the previous time before that i didn't send her like my info and so the joke was all right well i'm just gonna i'll send it i'll share with me my my contact and that's how it ended up starting she necessarily not necessarily wants to follow me i think she only wants to follow the kids uh because she does follow the boys at all you know and knows exactly where they are at all time yeah as far as i'm concerned i don't think that she doesn't want i don't think she wants cares what happens to me that is not true and you know that i swear to god i don't think that she does

01:37:54 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

i don't think it's it's uh even if you don't even if you look once a year you know god forbid you get nervous about something at least you have the ability to jessica are you there i sure am good

01:38:05 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 2:

morning guys good morning what's going on oh i just wanted to let you know that you have absolutely every right to uh feel the way that you feel thank you uh me and my we have life 360 as our app um we did download it because of my son but all three of us me my son and my husband are on it so yeah we we know each other's locations at all times do me a favor if i'm gonna

01:38:26 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 5:

jessica go on life 360 right now and tell me exactly where your husband is

01:38:31 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 2:

oh he's still at home i didn't get the notification saying that he left the house oh you get

01:38:36 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 5:

notifications oh my god he's still home so wow so i didn't realize life 360 gives notifications on there that would be annoying after like five or ten notifications it's annoying it is like

01:38:51 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 4:

what's the like does it tell you that what's your husband's name uh david like will they say david has left the house like what is the notification that he's on the move yes i will so it says hubby

01:39:03 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 3:

but yes it says hubby left home oh i would turn those notifications off that would drive me crazy

01:39:07 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 2:

um so we the only reason we had him on is because of my son again he just turned 18 so it's we

01:39:14 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 5:

probably won't use it as much anymore because has it ever been that uh hubby uh has been in a place

01:39:20 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 2:

he should not have been in no no i i have a very faithful hubby thanks thankfully so uh how about

01:39:26 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 5:

you have you ever been in a place that you weren't supposed to be in uh what's going on nicole misfit nicole is on with us right now hey good morning everybody good morning nicole do you guys share locations hell no why is that nicole why are you not sharing your location we did that

01:39:45 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

he used to be like oh you're at tj maxx i thought you were at work oh you're at target i thought you were no like don't clock my every move so so what did very people do before these apps

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 7:

All these married couples that were married years. They trusted each other.

01:40:03 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, Nicole, you and Chelsea need to talk to each other because I think exactly the way that you just described it is probably what I would do to Chelsea. And I think that you're, you know, concerned about your husband's safety. We're concerned that you're out spending money. That's probably the problem.

01:40:20 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 7:

Exactly. And we don't want to hear that. It's bad enough. We got to have Amazon packages in the garage. Now we got to hear every five minutes when we at home, good if we stay where we at we stay where we at you just trust it that's it yeah obviously

01:40:36 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 3:

you're very trustworthy uh jordan what's up it's mojo in the morning hey how's it going guys good

01:40:43 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 6:

what's going on jordan so my best friend and i have um locations and we use life 362 because i have an iphone she has android and the thing that i don't like about it and it's kind of weird is If she leaves her house, it does notify me, but it will actually show me at the end of the day her entire route that she went the entire day. So I can find out if she drove in circles, if she went this way, that way, but it is kind of cool because then you can, you know, I mean, in a way it's okay, but in another sense, it's kind of weird because I've gotten lost before, and I call her, and I'm like, hey, it might look weird on my location, but.

01:41:24 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you that that might get a little annoying after a while. The Life 360 thing sounds like it.

01:41:30 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 2:

What happens, like, if your phone dies? Does it alert that person, or does it just seem like you've been at that location for...

01:41:36 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 3:

I think it goes to your last location and find your... I don't know about Life 360. What's up, Trish?

01:41:42 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

01:41:44 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:41:44 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 4:

So, my wife is a firefighter in town, and her house happens to be, like, just a mile south of where we live. and she's very busy and I we have that 360 and every time she goes by the back fence she's home she's away she's home she's away I finally just shut it off yeah that would get annoying it's just over and over and over again and then I as I sit on the couch I do feel slightly guilty that she's

01:42:11 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 3:

working so hard that is true like life 360 would make me feel guilty that I'm doing nothing but watching uh you know binge watching a tv show and eating and watching where chelsea goes yeah uh i want to do it i want it just for the case of chelsea driving down orchard lake road i can

01:42:28 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

say hey can you stop at beyond juice for me i honestly gotta have done that so many times with

01:42:33 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 1:

01:43:02 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 2:

the bay area wait a second wait she cheated on you with a girl yeah that's in and out for real

01:43:07 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 1:

It was her co-worker. It's a long story.

01:43:10 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We got time.

01:43:12 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 8:

Lesbian.

01:43:13 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Yeah, lesbian. How did you know it was the co-worker? It happened in my house. Going through her phone, going through her iPhone, she put a lock on it and everything. So this is the reason why I like War of the Roses, because of this. That's amazing.

01:43:30 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 3:

I would have a hard time if it was all the way across the world, too.

01:43:34 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then on top of that, I also saw all the photos that were happening. So what I did was I changed the password and deleted photos from her phone. So, yeah, I am Team Galaxy to the day I die.

01:43:46 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 3:

I love that. I love that he has completely given up on Apple products because he's so scarred. Ruba, what's up, Ruba?

01:43:57 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 5:

Hey. Hi. I used to find my iPhone, and I'm not going to lie. I have, well, my ex now, but I had shared her location with my friend, so she didn't know that I knew where she'd be at type thing, and I actually caught her cheating, and as far as Life360, it'll tell you the whole route. You have to pay, like, extra for that stuff, but it'll tell you, like, their whole route for the day, if they, like, use their phone, if they don't tell you if they were speeding, yeah, when their battery's low. Yeah, they were, like, talking on the phone, like, stuff like that, which is good in the because, yeah.

01:44:31 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 2:

When you caught your person cheating, did you go to the place that they were at or just by the location you knew they were somewhere they shouldn't have been?

01:44:39 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. She sent me the, like, my friend screenshotted and sent me it, and I already knew she was with her ex, so.

01:44:46 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:44:47 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 5:

Or that, yeah.

01:44:49 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 3:

Ruba.

01:44:49 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 5:

These hoes ain't loyal.

01:44:50 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Ruba. Which service is better, doing Find My iPhone or doing the other one?

01:45:00 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 2:

the more intense one i like fine i like fine my iphone what is something you guys have it and it says location turned off or location unavailable there's two different things one of them her phones like is that the other one the person like they shut their location off so they don't like

01:45:15 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 3:

you don't see it yeah okay so what if she what if she's following me how do i turn mine off so she

01:45:23 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 2:

can't see me you go to find my like the app find my iphone and where it says me like in the little icon it'll be it'll be green for it to be on but if you turn it off it'll turn off and she's like

01:45:35 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

chelsea won't be able to see where you're at but she doesn't get a notification does she

01:45:39 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 2:

no she won't get a notification she won't notice it until she actually goes to see where you're at oh okay all right thank you mojo don't be trying no please yeah he's taking notes right now

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Bye.

01:45:50 - 01:45:50 | Unknown:

Bye.

01:45:52 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 3:

01:47:14 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, Pete Davidson is about to become a daddy. As in, he's going to have a baby daddy. The former SNL star expecting a child, his first child, with his girlfriend, model and actress Elsie Hewitt. She was joking on Instagram, well, now everyone knows we had sex.

01:47:30 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, I'm not yawning at you doing the dirty. I am so tired this morning.

01:47:34 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Want to take a shot of some?

01:47:36 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 3:

No, that will just make me more tired.

01:47:38 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 4:

Some five-hour energy?

01:47:38 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 3:

This heat has kind of gotten to me as far as, you know, how hot it has been. I guess it's supposed to cool down, though. We're supposed to have some nice weather, but I'm sorry. Congratulations, Pete. It's okay.

01:47:48 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 1:

It was a hard launch. Dallas Mavericks star Clay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion are, we knew they were dating. We've talked about all of the rumors and the photos from their vacation, but it was their first public appearance together yesterday on the carpet at Megan's inaugural Pete and Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. They were together, they were posting, so it is official, I guess. I know he having fun.

01:48:13 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 4:

Shane Gillis, actually, was it him? I think he, uh, yeah. At the ESBs? Never mind, yeah. He made a joke about him only being able to hit threes, too. Oh, yeah.

01:48:22 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 1:

It was a different kind of joke. No, it was. It was last night, yeah.

01:48:26 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 3:

I like that you liked his jokes. That was funny. That was good.

01:48:29 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 1:

Just weeks after finalizing her $75 million divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen, you guys all know who that is, right? Borat. Isla Fisher, who is just so cute, shared a very interesting Instagram quote making fun of marriage and I think in the process kind of dissing Sacha Baron Cohen. The post was this. Nowadays, 80% of women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

01:49:02 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, damn.

01:49:02 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 1:

I think there's a few meetings there, but man, did she post that and people had comments. Definitely, I think, a subtle swipe at her ex, even though I feel like they have remained friends and are kind to each other, but still.

01:49:15 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 4:

You said $75 million divorce?

01:49:17 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 1:

$75 million divorce, yeah.

01:49:18 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 4:

I did not know Borat was that funny.

01:49:21 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, he did other things, too.

01:49:22 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know he was getting it like that.

01:49:24 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, there's a new feud in town, Popeye's versus McDonald's. So if you aren't aware, the snack wrap is back at McDonald's as of last week. I already got one. Was it good? Oh, my God. Really? I don't know why. It's so simple, but it was so good. Well, now, Popeye's is doing this. They're launching their own version of the snack wrap, and they're going viral with this diss track targeting McDonald's, and they're calling it a wrap battle, but like double U-R-A-P, a rap pedal.

01:50:02 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 12:

We gon' get it poppin' like Louisiana cookin' grease. Popeye's got the chicken rappin' it's a classic in the streets. I'm about to strickin' mindin' business, I don't want no beef. Clowns got back to rappin', it was cool, but it ain't easy to me.

01:50:15 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 4:

We are not the same, I've been the favorite, so I let you cook. Popeye's got it like the streets agreein', that's a major look.

01:50:21 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 12:

We just do it better, stackin' cheddar, yeah, we eatin' good.

01:50:25 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 4:

Breaded and it's battered, yeah, I know our chicken's got you shook.

01:50:28 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 12:

You can bite our rats, but know the recipe is different.

01:50:31 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they want the sauce. We'll make it spicy like your mentions.

01:50:35 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 12:

If they think it's sweet, we'll add a lemonade and biscuits. Food be tasting funny when the clown is in the kitchen. Food be tasting funny when the clown is in the kitchen.

01:50:44 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 1:

So they have chicken wraps, and McDonald's has the snack wrap. And they swear their chicken wraps are better than the snack wraps.

01:50:50 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 9:

There are times I'm proud to be an American, and there are times I'm not. This is one of those moments. When you go, like, south of France, whatever, and they say dumbass Americans, just ask me what they're talking about.

01:51:36 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 10:

times, I can't believe I got through. And the beauty of this is that it's just a week away that we're going to be giving this car away. Loaded 2025 Chevy Trax for $20,000 cash at Gordon Chevrolet on Ford Road just west of Merriman in Garden City. Are you excited for that?

01:51:54 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm on my way to work and I don't even want to go to work. I'm so excited.

01:52:00 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 10:

Which one are you going to take if you win? The car or the cash?

01:52:04 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 3:

Probably the car. My daughter's in college and needs a car. And mom can't afford one. So there we go. This would be amazing.

01:52:11 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 10:

Where does she go to school?

01:52:13 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

Michigan State. Yay. Go green.

01:53:56 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey everyone, it's Cal Penn. I'm the host of Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club. This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary, massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth.

01:54:19 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 6:

I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, okay, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust, the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me and I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too. Listen to Earsay,

01:54:53 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 5:

the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

01:55:00 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 3:

All right, Cush and Towel, here we go. We'll do four, and then we'll pick from the four who's going to be the qualifier today, and then tomorrow morning, Grand Prize. Cassandra, are you there, Cassandra?

01:55:12 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 2:

I am.

01:55:13 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Let's hear your high story.

01:55:16 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 2:

So when I was 13, it was the first time I had ever smoked weed with my friend Crystal. And we had smoked, and I was getting ready to go head home shortly after that, And I was scared to the nines that my mom was going to find out. So we went into our medicine cabinet and we pulled out what we thought were eye drops. Thought was the key word there.

01:55:39 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. What did you put in your eye?

01:55:40 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

So I held my eye open. And when at first the tip of the bottle touched my eye, and at first I thought, this might not be right. But we still went through because you know how they sometimes have that like little saltiness there and it burns your eye a little. She puts the first drop in and she's going to put the second drop in. And I'm like, this is not eye drops. We put super glue in. Oh, no. Oh, my God. I panicked and I ran to the bathroom and, you know, when it hits water, it like instantly solidifies. Yeah, that's what it that's pretty much what it did in my eye. I don't know how I got as lucky as I did because I only lost a couple of eyelashes and I surprisingly did not glue my eyes shut. Wow. I told my mom that I got glue on my finger doing a project for school and I rubbed my eye without realizing I had it on my finger and she believed me.

01:56:33 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 3:

I've got to dissect your call here for a second, Cassandra.

01:56:37 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's more, but yeah. Oh no, there is?

01:56:40 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

You didn't lose an eye or anything, did you?

01:56:43 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 2:

No, I didn't, but when I woke up, I flushed my eye out and when I woke up the next morning, it looked like I had pink eye. And so I had to go to an urgent care and they sent me to the eye doctor. my mom was pissed she was so mad I ended up having a small scratch on my cornea which has since healed yeah because I had a little piece still floating in my eyeball yeah um and I ended up telling my mom that she was at the eye doctor and she goes well you'll probably never smoke again funny enough I now live in Michigan and I've been in the industry for three years but

01:57:11 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

Cassandra yeah I want to stop for a second stop you 13 years old is when you first did this that is petrifying for any parent of a middle school kid like that is crazy I was actually

01:57:22 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 2:

believe it or not i was actually just talking to my mom about it this morning and i like i said i've worked in the industry for a few years now so i hear stories like i was in a dispensary for two and a half years and i hear stories from customers all the time and i would say on average between 13 and 15 is when people try cannabis for the first time wow personally i'm not sure i could go on a whole i could go on a whole like rant of like how i feel about that um but that's for

01:57:50 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 3:

another day cassandra um you are you're a great call this i'm just gonna be a tough one to beat uh let's go to mike here next mike uh can you beat i put uh super glue in my eyes what's your

01:58:03 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 1:

cushion tell story okay i grew up in wyandotte and everybody smoked there at about age 12 so that was normal yeah my best friend was was canadian and we'd go up there a lot and we went to visit his cousin and our other friend was from hawaii and in the 80s you got the best weed from hawaii so we were quite high and we go into canada and his we get to his aunt and his cousin's in jail he got his car uh taken to the impound yeah she's like and they didn't search it but there's a half a pound of weed inside his car oh man so of course we're as high as could be we're 17 years old. We're in another country. We're drinking rum. Somebody says, well, let's go get it. We decide we're going to break into the impound. Well, here's me. I'm the short, fat kid, really slow kid who can't run. We scale this fence. We get across the fence. I mean, it took me forever. By the time I get over the fence, here's these two guys going, we already got it. Let's go. Let's get back over the fence. You look over. Here's two Dobermans chasing us oh my goodness you know in the 80s everybody had dobermans yeah and they're chasing us i'm trying to get over the fence like i said this fat kid it's like chunk from uh the goonies trying to that's a visual oh my god that's crazy so i fall over i'm like literally head to toe

01:59:27 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 3:

scratched up nothing serious but bad enough who got you the coppers or the or the dog which one Gotcha.

01:59:34 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 1:

No, we actually got over the fact.

01:59:36 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 3:

You did? Okay.

01:59:37 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 1:

We didn't get caught. Wow. We didn't get caught, thank God.

01:59:40 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing.

01:59:41 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 1:

And we get back to the house, and the first thing, we're all looking at each other going, wait a minute, we're 17 in another country, we're high, we're drunk, and we're carrying a half a pound of weed out of a police impound. What kind of idiots are we? Idiots.

01:59:52 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 3:

What do you do nowadays that you did something like that?

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Nowadays, I don't even smoke to stop.

01:59:59 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

I know, but what do you do?

02:00:00 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 2:

02:00:50 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 4:

It was disgusting. I bet.

02:00:54 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

Was it wiggling and stuff in your hand?

02:00:58 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

No, so it was actually dead. Oh, it was dead, okay. It looks like a little joint. We were so high. I was like, we got to go home.

02:01:07 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

That's funny.

02:01:08 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 4:

It took us a minute to get the boat out of the water.

02:01:11 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 2:

My favorite part of this whole thing is I don't know how you even compete against these other two that were on there, but that's pretty damn funny. That's good, too. I think the winner has to be Cassandra.

02:01:22 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, for sure.

02:01:23 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 2:

The super glue one. Am I right? I'm with you. The winner and still high champion is Cassandra. Congratulations, Cassandra. You could be hanging out with Wiz Khalifa. You're now qualified. Congratulations to you.

02:01:39 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 3:

thank you so much i'm stoked my fingers are crossed hey question because you said you work

02:01:45 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 2:

at a dispensary um what's the craziest thing that's been stolen from a dispensary i was hoping

02:01:51 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 3:

you were going to ask me that question i'm not actually the dispensary anymore i'm at a grow but honestly i would say it's not a stealing thing it's people trying to give you fake cash um there's so many cameras in that place like i'd say the accessories would probably be the easiest but across the board, I would say I thought

02:02:10 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 2:

counterfeit cash. Yeah, I could see that. By the way, a texter just texted in that they've tried to smoke a minnow, too. Are you serious? 734. Congratulations to you, Cassandra. You're now in the running to go hang with Wiz Khalifa at Wiz Khalifa DaBaby's concert presented by Mojo in the Morning next week.

02:02:32 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 4:

Cheat and you'll get caught is the War of the Roses in Minutes on Mojo in the

02:02:36 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. So can you just come over, or do you got to call ahead? Cav wants to know right now on Mojo in the Morning.

02:02:44 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 1:

So even if I say, hey, y'all, meet at the house around 8, I still expect you to say, on my way. I don't expect you to just show up at that time. Oh, no way. What? I'm telling y'all, that's how I operate. That's how I am.

02:02:56 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, if you say, come over at 8, if they come over at 8, they don't need to say, hey, I'm on my way.

02:03:02 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 1:

No, no. So the situation in particular, we were supposed to go out and the event that we were going out to was from like five to nine or something like that. So in the morning in the group chat, the idea was to come over to my place beforehand. Let's pregame, let's drink and then we'll go. Now, it's not a set time, but we know the event starts at five o'clock. So I get a text message in a group chat earlier like, hey, are we still on? I'm like, I'll let y'all know when I get to the crib. I get to the crib around four. I'm like, hey, I'm here. They're like, and I'm chilling. They're like, are you still going? I'm like, yeah, for sure. That's the conversation. So even though I understand that the timeline is from 5 to 7, I told you I'm at the house, I still expect you to say, hey, I'm on my way or parking, but instead I just hear a ding-dong knock at the door. Like, I know you're coming over.

02:03:55 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 2:

To be friends with him is so difficult.

02:03:57 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 1:

That's too much to ask.

02:03:59 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 5:

But you already said the time. So you ought to expect that everybody's coming over at five or around there, give or take.

02:04:05 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 1:

I feel, but at the same time, so he didn't come at five. I think he came at like six or something like that.

02:04:10 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay, see, that's actually the only time I think then you deserve a text is if somebody says, hey, I'm coming. I'm going to be an hour late.

02:04:17 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Or if you're running early, hey, I'm coming early. Maybe a text might be appropriate in that one.

02:04:23 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 1:

So you don't think they should have said, I'm on my way or parking? Just showing that ring the doorbell is like. No, that's all.

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 5:

You knew they were coming.

02:04:31 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 1:

at that time i don't know if i knew they were coming you invited them can i tell you what i'm

02:04:36 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 5:

at that time how can you not how can you say you didn't know i'm gonna text kevin sure i'm gonna

02:04:42 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 2:

text kevin and i'm gonna be i'm gonna be like taking a poop you know honestly walking across the street i was unsure honestly you know what it pisses me off he doesn't even you still knew

02:04:53 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

there was the possibility that people were going to come at five because you invited them that's why I say I'm on my way. He doesn't even answer.

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 6:

regular text let alone what's up mark how you doing all mine hey mojo what's going on no kevin

02:05:06 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 3:

tells me be there eight i'm there at 7 45 if it's church or business i'm 15 minutes early okay

02:05:12 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 6:

kevin did kevin want you to text him like when you're walking out the door and not even that

02:05:18 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 5:

if you're in the parking lot parking don't just ding don't why kev you said to be there eight o'clock eight o'clock eight o'clock right i hear you but still i don't know how maybe it's just I operate, I operate. It's not business, it's not professional. Like, you don't check ahead if you're going for a business interview. Wherever you're going, like, you don't plan that for a reservation. Let them know I'm on my way. But if you come into somebody's house, at least say I'm outside. Chris, what do you think of Kevin's idiocy here?

02:05:43 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 3:

I completely, no, no, hey, hey, hey, hey, call me an idiot too, my guy, because I completely agree. Preach the gospel. 1,000%. Oh, my God, you idiot. Listen, listen, I'm going to break it down, okay? You understand people are coming, but when they send the I'm on my way text, now your expectation for them to be on time is there. Because you can know that they're coming to your house, but they could be late, early. You don't know when they're going to show up. What kind of friends do you have?

02:06:11 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 7:

But those things deserve a text. If you're going to be early or late, deserve a text. Otherwise, I'm expecting you to be there at 5 o'clock, you know, or a little bit, usually people are late, a couple minutes after.

02:06:22 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 6:

I can't believe it. Cooper, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:06:26 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 1:

good morning what's going on uh i just was gonna agree kev there i'm i'm like notorious for getting super anxious about when people are coming on over even if i've already mentioned it because if like like i know even i'm one of those people like if i just am like ready to go over to someone's house i'm like hey yo like i know you said eight o'clock or whatever but like mind if i come over at seven and like hang out or whatnot so like having that like knowing that someone's you know ready to come on over so you also agree this is amazing this is the last two

02:06:58 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 5:

callers are some of the smartest people we've talked to all day yeah faith what do you think

02:07:03 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 2:

faith howdy y'all um so i think that you need to be texting before you show up the only exception would be like if you sent out an invite you know like if you you pre-canned

02:07:18 - 02:07:23 | Speaker 6:

send out an invite it was the morning he sent a text invite are you saying if i do an actual

02:07:23 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

like i'm saying a formal invite like if it's like a formal invitation like hey you're invited to our backyard barbecue here's a paper invite i sent this out two weeks in advance then you should be expecting people but if it's a text message how informal that is it's a matter of respect of sending a message saying i'm on my way my eta is you know 505 thank you unbelievable how crazy you

02:07:48 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 7:

guys are that is over communication yeah if everybody that i invited to my house sent me their eta i feel like yeah i'm expecting it's around the time i told you to come yeah so

02:07:57 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 6:

over communication is a bad thing though yeah well i think that uh you're asking too much of

02:08:02 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 2:

your friends nisha what do you think like i said i always tell people hey let me know when you're

02:08:08 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 6:

on your way let me know when you're close but but you do tell them ahead of time you asked them to do that yes that's the difference yeah so kevin just sends a text see kevin sends a text says hey i'll see you at eight o'clock come to my house at eight you don't say hey let me know when you're on your way they why should they have to tell you they'll be there at eight i agree i agree if you

02:08:33 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 5:

don't say anything then people just show up go back to what you said the first time no i like

02:08:39 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 6:

that better i just think this is difficult your poor friends who's the who's the friend that

02:08:44 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 5:

screw it was jg jg's a smart man i love jg week when he when he brought the door i was like dog why you ain't tell me he was coming he's like i thought i told you in the chat you said to be i'm like you could have still text and said i'm on my way or something you just show up d what do

02:08:59 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 4:

you say hey i agree with kev oh thank you listen if i tell somebody like if i tell somebody to be at my house at this time i need to know what time you like i need to know you you told him Listen, if I'd be at my house at 8 o'clock, I need to know when you're on your way, that way I can clean up a little bit. You should be prepared for 8 o'clock.

02:09:24 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 6:

You must have friends that are always late and they never show up on time, and that's why you say this.

02:09:29 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 4:

I need to access 15 minutes to get my house together.

02:09:32 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, then you should have told them 8-15.

02:09:34 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

02:09:35 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 5:

What's so wrong with saying, on my way? You can even do it. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just not necessary. It is. It's a nice to have.

02:09:46 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 6:

All right. Mojo in the morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo.

We're going to do pay your bills coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We'll give you a chance to win $1,000 to pay your bills. Right now, busting cheaters.

02:10:10 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 4:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for Boar the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:17 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 3:

So, Amaya, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you?

02:10:21 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Why? 2,000. Well, for one thing, he doesn't post me no more on the Internet, on social media.

02:10:31 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

So you guys have been together a couple years, and things have now started feeling a little bit weird because of the day.

02:10:39 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Weird, yeah. Nah, it's not right. It doesn't seem to be going in the right direction, no. And he wants to accuse me, but he's the cheater.

02:10:50 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 3:

I have to be quite honest with you. You don't sound like the type of person that I would cheat on if I was a guy.

02:10:56 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you. I am a guy, but if I was...

02:11:00 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Amaya, did you ask him why he's not posting you anymore? Because to me, that would freak me out, too.

02:11:08 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 4:

He just says, well, he's been working on some other things, and he didn't have time for this, and he fell asleep, or he was hanging out with his buddy, so... Lots of excuses.

02:11:20 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 2:

was uh was there ever a point i guess when you guys first started dating where you told him that he had to post you was he ever reluctant or was he always just willing to show you off

02:11:34 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 4:

that was his thing he always wanted to show me off and we were going out a lot and i met a lot of his friends and hanging out with them and now it's kind of it's just weird he's he's distance it's not it's not the same it doesn't even i don't know if we even date him right now

02:11:55 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 3:

well it's weird amaya we're gonna figure out what's going on here and we're gonna find out if there is anything wrong and and if there isn't and he sends you the flowers then we got to figure out a way to get this guy to be a little bit more loving with you All right?

02:12:10 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Okay. I'm willing.

02:12:14 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 3:

All right. I'm telling you, this woman would cut your d*** off if you cheated on her.

02:12:19 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

She sounded like she could cook, though.

02:12:21 - 02:12:21 | Unknown:

What?

02:12:22 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 2:

How did you get that out of this? You can make some greens. I can hear it in her voice.

02:12:27 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 4:

Greens? Can I throw down some? What type of greens do you want? See?

02:12:31 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 2:

That's the right kind of question. Some hot water cornbread. I can smell it. Got that for you, too.

02:12:36 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:12:37 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right. We're calling up Caleb. We're going to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses.

02:12:56 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm looking for Caleb. Caleb.

02:13:05 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, who's this?

02:13:06 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:13:29 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. You got 30 seconds. What's up?

02:13:31 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Caleb?

02:13:37 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't think so.

02:13:39 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:13:43 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Probably not.

02:13:44 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, as a thank you for participating in that survey, that was it. And I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So I need to go ahead and get some information from you about who you want the flowers to go out to this afternoon, starting with a first name and a last name.

02:14:01 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 3:

So you're just going to send them out for free?

02:14:03 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yep, absolutely. Hopefully you'll use us in the future when you order flowers.

02:14:09 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. What do you need again?

02:14:11 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 1:

First and a last name of who you would like the flowers to go to.

02:14:16 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 4:

Amaya.

02:14:18 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And Amaya's relationship to you?

02:14:23 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 3:

That's my girlfriend.

02:14:26 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And I can also, instead of sending a card with the flowers, We do something unique at rosesbloom.com, and we send a voice memo. So in this case, Amaya will get a text message alerting her she has a delivery today, and then she'll also be able to play this voice memo that I'm going to record with you here in just a second. Does that make sense? So I'm going to count you down, and you just say whatever you would say on a card. You can make it a little bit longer, all right?

02:14:55 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:14:55 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay, three, two, one. love forever and always caleb okay and caleb i have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that not really okay uh so is that it are we good to go we are good to go but i i actually need you to okay the call being recorded for me to proceed any further and send the flowers okay yeah record it yeah Okay, so you are okay with it being recorded?

02:15:32 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 3:

For the third time, you know.

02:15:34 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:15:35 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 2:

Caleb, she needs to get that okay just so that we can tell you what we're about to tell you right now, and that is that we are going to send those flowers off to Amaya.

02:15:46 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 4:

Put them on the speakerphone?

02:15:48 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. We're just hanging out here. I'll explain to you. This is the Mojo in the Morning show, and Amaya is very happy because you sent flowers to her because she's on the phone listening to you right now.

02:16:06 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay, why is she on the phone with...

02:16:11 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 2:

Amaya called us up because she was worried that the two of you were a little too distant from each other and she was making sure that you are still thinking of her and you just sent her the flowers and wrote her a very, very nice card. And Amaya, you want to say something to Caleb?

02:16:31 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:16:34 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 2:

What do you want to say, Amaya? I'm scared.

02:16:39 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 3:

I just thought that we were on the outs again. This has been a on and off, and I just felt like you were seeing someone else, and you don't spend the time with me and don't answer my calls like you used to, it's like, what's up? You didn't put me on the back burner?

02:16:57 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 4:

You thought I was cheating on you? Dude, if anyone's cheating on anyone, it's you cheating on me.

02:17:03 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 3:

How am I cheating on you? And you stop calling me. You don't answer my calls. What are you talking about?

02:17:11 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on one second here. Hold on. Amaya, You should be happy He sent the flowers to you

02:17:19 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it, thank you But now he's trying to accuse me of cheating Caleb

02:17:24 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 2:

You have a trust issue With Amaya

02:17:29 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean If she's going to try to put a **** I can do it with any of us It is you Wait a minute We were always hanging out We very seldom see one another Maybe if once a week What are you talking about? I didn't know there was a ****. I mean, because we're going to hang out a week. No, you have. So what is it now? You don't even post me on social media. You started that. I didn't ask you to do that.

02:17:58 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Why are you guys fighting when you guys have a good situation here?

02:18:04 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 3:

But why? What? What? You don't have the time like you used to now? What's the excuse?

02:18:11 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 4:

To what? That I don't post you on social media? I don't even post on social media that much.

02:18:16 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 3:

Like, what are you talking about, dude? You're the one driving male co-workers home every day from work. Why are we so angry?

02:18:23 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Why is this such an angry situation here right now? What's your co-worker saying? Amaya, be happy. He sent you the flowers.

02:18:33 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm very happy. You don't sound happy. Yeah, obviously.

02:18:38 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 2:

And Caleb, you sound like you're miserable, too, and you got trust issues, too.

02:18:43 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 1:

You guys got to figure that out.

02:18:45 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Spend time with each other.

02:18:49 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what we need to do. Oh, you don't know. Okay. That's what we need to do.

02:18:56 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Hold on one second, okay? Hold on. This is the home of War of the Roses. I absolutely love it.

02:20:00 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 5:

and gets the flowers and still gets angry, still upset. But does she have a point? Is there something there? Is there something going on? Comments from listeners here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Linda, what's up? It's War of the Roses. What's going on?

02:20:15 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, good morning. So we can't pass what he said. He said that she's driving male coworkers home every single day. Okay. So have they talked about it? Is that something he doesn't like? Like, why is she still doing it?

02:20:31 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 5:

Let's talk about this for a second, because we did ask her that question.

02:21:12 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 1:

double-edged sword because i feel like women do this every day and now men are starting to do it every single day because i've had situations where i've been accused off of one thing that was miscommunicated and in that case i'm leaving because at that point you don't trust me and you

02:21:32 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 5:

don't trust my words so what are we even doing yeah no i listen i get you that there is something to these guys um i thought it was just a nice thing like the guy sent the flowers i mean it was not even a question and i don't think he knew who we were so it wasn't that so don't anybody get into that deal i mean the guy would you know kind of mumbled his way through the whole war of the roses um but uh she was not happy and uh they do not seem honestly they didn't sound like a match like they didn't sound usually when you get couples that are on and you talk to them you're like oh these guys actually sound like they're into each other they don't sound like they're

02:22:07 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 2:

into each other they both started like they were or they both sounded excuse me like they were

02:22:10 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 4:

trying to pick a fight yeah but like to her point though it seems like he's been pulling back

02:22:15 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

yeah the all of a sudden not posting and i said this when we were talking to her get that to me is a is a really big thing if you're posting posting posting posting and then

02:22:24 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 5:

all of a sudden it's like nothing yeah why um i i do want to ask this question about posting i want to ask the question about the amount of times that your significant others should post you or you know if they don't post you because i think that there are some people that look at it as there has to be a certain amount of posts about you yeah in order for you to be out there to every one of their people that follow them you know it's kind of it so you know what it's kind of like it's like you know how dogs uh mark their territory it's your version of marking your

02:23:03 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 4:

territory of peeing on your spot crazy analogy i've been in relationships now i'm obviously i'm on the radio and i think the gifts that god have given me has given me has put me in positions to where i have to be public even though i prefer to be private so my personal life outside of like this and the things that i do i don't like talking about my personal life like my friends have been like we've learned more about you on this show than we've known about your entire life that's just how I live yeah in relationships I'm kind of the same way but I've been involved with people who felt this though and I don't know if it's insecurity or if it's just the times of social media that we're in that if you're not quote-unquote showcasing me or posting me you must mean or that must mean you're hiding me yeah and it doesn't always equate in that way it's just I don't want the world to be into something that's so private and so sacred Wes dated a girl that

02:23:55 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 2:

was this was a topic of conversation and a point of contention between them all the time and he said she would constantly either be sending him photos to post of her or they would get into arguments of why he was not posting her and it was it was one of the reasons why he was like this

02:24:13 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 5:

person is not my person yeah 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to talk about that about not posting it on social media and does that equate to cheating uh or hiding something what's

02:24:27 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

up tyler hi hey good morning everybody i don't think that posting your significant other on social media is necessary at all um i think doing too much of that is actually unhealthy or maybe there's like some unhealthy reasons underlying why that's happening i just am speaking from experience here what's your experience so my uh the relationship i was in before the one i'm currently

02:25:00 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 4:

And she would post not, I wouldn't say super frequently, but it was a lot more frequently than me. I just wouldn't really post other than big occasions, you know, maybe a birthday or something like that. But it was randomness, but it was also, it seemed like possessiveness. And looking back on it now being removed, there were a lot of signs like in the relationship going on at the time as well that i just was ignorant to um but now my girlfriend and i don't post each other on social media at all and there's still issues there so that's an interesting one i i do think

02:25:40 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 5:

that if if things go through a drastic change where somebody you know uh doesn't now all of a sudden posts and they were posting before it does make me think that but they can also go back and look at the past posts and realize that they're in a relationship um but But, Dave Vaughn, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:26:01 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? What's going on? So, my perspective, I think maybe Amaya needs to take a step back. Think of things through with the whole taking the guy home from work with her boyfriend posting her. And, you know, they going out on dates, probably doing the work for her. And then she posts him. It probably felt, like, a little embarrassing, especially if she didn't communicate that with him. So they really just got a lot of bad miscommunication going on. But the whole posting on social media thing, that's only as important as the two individuals make it. So since it's very important to her, he should at least oblige her and tell her why he's not doing it.

02:26:40 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think so. I think if that's something that she wants, let her have a little bit of that.

02:26:45 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 6:

I get it, but I always think of why. Why do you need it so bad?

02:26:50 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 5:

Because it makes her feel more secure, yeah.

02:26:52 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 6:

Then am I not doing something that I need to be doing in a relationship where the only thing, but I'm saying that's weak as hell. Well, no, if the way that you feel secure in our relationship, there's got to be other stuff to you.

02:27:03 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 5:

No, but there's got to be other stuff there.

02:27:05 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 1:

I hear what you're saying. I think it's, I think it's what Mojo said of then it's public. Then everybody knows. Now, look, we know, we all know people who are posting the hell out of their significant others and they're still doing stuff behind the scenes. So that is definitely not a guarantee that that person is, right.

02:27:23 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 5:

But there's also a drastic change in us. He used to post her. Now he's not posting her.

02:27:27 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 6:

That's why I asked, was it willingly or was it because I've been in relationships where people say, I need you to post me. And I was like forced to do it. Hey, Cass, what's up?

02:27:36 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I would just like to say with the posting thing, some people post too much, right, all the time. I think if you're avoiding posting me, if we're out to dinner and you're just posting the plate, that's a problem, right? If we're on vacation and you're just posting the sand and I'm right next to you, that's a problem. But if you're at home and you're like, oh, I'm planting roses today, I'm not there. But if it's something where I should be included, I would feel some kind of way. Because some people post like I'm painting my nails. Okay, well, who cares, right?

02:28:12 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 5:

Right, exactly, yeah.

02:28:13 - 02:28:25 | Speaker 7:

You can tell that they're avoiding it. But, like, the last caller, if it's an issue, just throw him in there. Hey, remember this guy? I'm still with you. Exactly, yeah. Like, text of life sometimes.

02:28:25 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I agree with you. Capri, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:28:30 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 8:

Hey, you guys. I just wanted to say, because I've been in situations where I was in a relationship, and he was posting me, but he was cheating. And so I learned from that and I never post my significant other on social media because it's embarrassing to be with someone and they're posting you for the world to see as if they're so madly in love. And then all the time, the whole time they're cheating on you and you not knowing this and you're posting them and now you look stupid.

02:28:57 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 5:

So you let that one time change you as far as being that scarred that you won't post anybody now? Absolutely. How many times do you need? I won't do it. Why do you – if that was the case, then all of a sudden you're going to say the first time a guy cheats on you, you're going to girls because why do you got to do that? You know what I mean? Like I think you got to give it a little bit, you know, of that was just him. Lisa, what's up?

02:29:22 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. How's it going?

02:29:24 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 5:

You know what? Lisa, it's going good. How much are you posting your man?

02:29:28 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 3:

um well i don't really post him because i've actually been in a relationship with him for eight years and he's never once posted anything about me okay there's there's something there why is he what does he post on his social media um well he supposedly says that he doesn't post anything but as we know there's a way to hide those kind of things or hide your postings from your significant others so it's always been a sore spot for us he just tells me i'm never on

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Facebook. But you know that he posts.

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 4:

but he specifically hides you from seeing it?

02:30:03 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't know if he posts because, as we all know, there is a way to block certain people from seeing your posts. So I always have people kind of check up on his profile to see if he's posted anything. Has it ever happened that he did? We've been together for eight years. Pardon?

02:30:19 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 4:

Has it ever happened that he did post something and then blocked you from seeing it?

02:30:23 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 1:

Well, I've posted things on his social media, and then they disappear. Okay, that's not good.

02:30:30 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 3:

See, we need to get Nicole on the phone. So you tag him in it, and it will go up on his social, and he'll go back to it, and he'll block it so that it doesn't show.

02:30:40 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, he denies that he does it, but I'll post something. Like, if it's his birthday, I'll post, and then it's gone. It's gone a few minutes later. But we've been together eight years, and even some of his friends, we ran into a golf outing, and they asked who I am. What?

02:30:57 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? Lisa, there's something to that. That's weird. Man, why are you staying in this?

02:31:05 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I don't know. We've been together, like I said, for eight years. But pretty much most of the important people in his life don't even know I exist. Wow.

02:31:16 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 3:

Do you all have children together?

02:31:19 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

No, we're beyond that point. Okay.

02:31:22 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's amazing. That is really kind of sad. That makes me really sad. it's not uncommon though i mean we got hold on a second we got uh there are guys that don't post

02:31:31 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 4:

period that don't have social media period but to have it and to only block your significant other of eight years from seeing stuff is well no she said well but she also says that she it's

02:31:42 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 3:

not even so much blocking from seeing it she'll post something that gets on his account no i know and then she he'll purposely go to it and take it off no i understand that part did you hear what

02:31:51 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 4:

else she said of you know if you post a story you you can select certain people that you don't want to see that story and that's what he was doing to her yeah he's doing it in real life that's a

02:32:00 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 3:

that's a crazy one his friends don't even know her um all right war of the roses on mojo in the

02:32:05 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 2:

morning this is the home of the second date update war of the roses the throwback throw down and the

Dirty on the All right, what is trending? Shannon and the Dirty on the 30. You want to get me all the Shane Gillis stuff from the ESPYs? Yes, I can.

02:32:54 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 4:

So if you missed it, it was the ESPYs last night. And comedian Shane Gillis, who is Mojo's obsession at the moment, made all sorts of jokes during his monologue, including a joke about Caitlin Clark.

02:33:08 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 2:

When Caitlin Clark retires from the WNBA, she's going to work at a Waffle House so she can continue doing what she loves most, fist-fighting black women. It's so bad.

02:33:20 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 4:

His Epstein joke, I feel like, his Epstein joke, I feel like, is the one that went the most viral. I like the Mike Pence part. We got to start it at the beginning. I'll do it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it.

02:33:30 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 3:

I got it. I got it. I'm not going to play his whole monologue. There's nothing wrong with playing the whole monologue. The world needs laughter. The world needs laughter. Here we go. All right, here we go. The Mike Pence version, Talking about January 6th, cue up, cue up, cue up, and it is, oh, here you go. Yeah, this is it right here. This is the, right, I got it.

02:34:00 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 2:

Donald Trump wants to stage a UFC fight on the White House lawn. The last time he staged a fight in D.C., Mike Pence almost died. All right. You don't have to do that. It was fine. I didn't write it. Actually, there was supposed to be an Epstein joke here, but as it got deleted, must have probably deleted itself, right? Probably never existed, actually. Let's move on as a country and ignore that.

02:34:34 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 3:

That was a good one. The other jokes, if you don't mind me playing, Shannon. No, go ahead. The other ones that were pretty controversial, the joke that he made about the commissioner of the NBA. Have you ever seen what that guy looks like? I don't think so. Adam Silver is a big, tall, bald, white dude.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait, yes. I know exactly what that guy looks like.

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 2:

He's interesting.

02:35:01 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm here to host this award show so that I can capture Adam Silver because Joe thinks he's an alien. And Donald Trump wanted me to be here to capture Juan Soto for the same reason.

02:35:13 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 3:

And the funny thing is the celebrities and the stars.

02:35:15 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 1:

Get your food up there, dude. Shut up.

02:35:16 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 3:

The people are laughing. Like, they're laughing like crazy. But then when they see themselves on camera, they all stop laughing. Because it's not nice. Here you go.

02:35:24 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 1:

I didn't write this. Put your hands where my eyes can see is what they say when Deshaun Watson gets a massage. I disagree as well. Oh, God.

02:35:37 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I thought when he started talking about Bill Belichick, I thought what he said was kind of brutal.

02:35:43 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 1:

Also, I'm not trashing Bill Belichick. First off, he's 73 years old. He's dating a hot 24-year-old and people are criticizing him. What happened to this country? It used to be a great country. He won six Super Bowls. Yeah. He's dating a hot 24-year-old. Maybe if you guys won six Super Bowls, you wouldn't be sitting next to a fat, ugly dog wife.

02:36:05 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 3:

I mean, oh my gosh.

02:36:08 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 4:

When is he coming to talk?

02:36:11 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 3:

I think August 15th. August 15th, Ford Field.

02:36:14 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 4:

What do we have to do to get him in studio?

02:36:16 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 3:

That would be a dream come true.

02:36:18 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, we have to talk about this Coldplay concert. Oh, yeah. Where was this? It was Toronto, wasn't it? Oh, wait, no, my friends were all at that show. Was it the Toronto show? There were two Toronto shows that they did. I thought so. So this was at their Boston show. Oh, Boston show. Okay, okay. So I kept seeing this clip go viral of, you know, how they show, like, people in the audience on the big screens that are on the stage, and in this case, like, clearly there was a situation where they highlighted a guy who had his hands wrapped around this girl, and and the camera was put on them and they appeared on the big screen on stage, they very quickly separated from one another. The girl got this look on her face.

02:37:00 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, look at these two. All right, come on. You're okay? Uh-oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shocked.

02:37:09 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 2:

They were having an affair. Oh, my God.

02:37:13 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 3:

A couple questions. They actually know that it's an affair?

02:37:16 - 02:37:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I don't know how... I mean, the internet is incredible, But the guy is an astronomy CEO by the name of Andy Byron. The girl, his HR chief, Christian Cabot, both married.

02:37:29 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 3:

HR chief and the boss. The funniest is he dives to the ground. She turns around.

02:37:36 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 4:

I feel like her best friend is maybe the woman that's next to her.

02:37:40 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 2:

And clearly knows about the affair because she was like, oh, they've been uncovered. Okay, so Christopher Nolan's new movie, The Odyssey, starring Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon as the eternal hero. So we're like a year away from this film being released. It's only going to be released in IMAX. It was actually, the production was all on IMAX film. Well, exactly a year to the day of the release of The Odyssey, tickets went on sale, advanced tickets went on sale. Well, they sold out in certain theaters in three minutes.

02:38:16 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:38:17 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 2:

A year ahead of time. This is the first time in history that tickets for a movie have gone on sale a year before the film's release. Wow. And if you're looking for tickets for this movie, at this point, good luck.

02:38:31 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 4:

The cast is incredible. Isn't that crazy? You said Anne Hathaway. I'm looking right now. Matt Damon. Zendaya. Yeah. Peter Youngo. Robert Pattinson. Charlize Theron. Tom Holland.

02:38:39 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Is this based on the book? I never read the book, but I know a lot of people in high school had to read the book, The Odyssey.

02:38:44 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 3:

I didn't read it. I don't know either. Do you remember, though, that movies used to have that where the summer blockbusters had so much hype to it?

02:38:51 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Even a year out? I mean, you're that way for Toy Story.

02:38:54 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 4:

I can't wait for Toy Story 5.

02:38:56 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 2:

You talk about it every other day.

02:38:57 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 4:

I absolutely cannot wait. I feel like Superman had a little bit of that. Like, going to see Superman on the weekend, it came out. I text Paul. I mean, Wicked was that. I haven't seen the theater like that with the line, like, wrapped around. It was so many people. Wicked was that. It was amazing.

02:39:11 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 3:

There is no better thing than seeing a movie summertime, blockbuster, or Christmastime. Yes, the Christmastime ones.

02:39:17 - 02:39:21 | Speaker 4:

Even Josiah, he turned around and was like, look how many people are here. He couldn't believe it.

02:39:21 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem hinting this week the TSA might soon relax its long-standing 3-1-1 liquids rule, which limits your carry-ons to under 3.4 ounces. So annoying. So they've already done away with the rule that you have to remove your shoes. This could be next. And it is a new trend for weddings. brides specifically having a hairstylist at the ready and at some point during your reception leaving your guests for a little bit and chopping your hair only to re-emerge in front of all your guests and debut a cute new little bob and usually a different wedding dress as well.

02:40:00 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 4:

of tiktoks are racking up millions of views right now and this spontaneous wedding haircut trend is is a thing it's called the wedding chop and it basically symbolizes new beginnings so you come out halfway through you've caught your hair you debut your new hairstyle a new dress what do the

02:40:17 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 6:

guests do do the guests just sit there and wait while you get a haircut sometimes they don't know that that's what you're doing you know what annoys me going to weddings is when the couples uh the The bride changes, like, 12 outfits.

02:40:30 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

I changed.

02:40:31 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 6:

Did you?

02:40:32 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 4:

I changed once.

02:40:34 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 6:

But why do the grooms not get to put on something more comfortable?

02:40:38 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 5:

I'm trying to think about it. I feel like you can if you want to.

02:40:40 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 6:

You never see it, though. The guys always in it.

02:40:42 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Because they don't care as much. Girls, there's so many options now for fun, cute, short dresses for the reception.

02:40:49 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 5:

All it is is more money to spend. I'm ready. Whenever I get married, and I will get married, I'm ready for the dance part where, like, the groom and his groomsmen, they have, like, their moment to dance. I already know exactly what I'm going to do. I'm not going to spoil it now, but it's going to be fire, bro.

02:41:05 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 6:

It's going to be, like, I don't know, like, new edition.

02:41:08 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm hiring a choreographer. I'm going to be on point.

02:41:11 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 4:

Hey everyone, it's Cal Penn. and I'm the host of Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club. This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary, massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science, and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth.

02:43:29 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 8:

I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections, And it's like, okay, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me. And I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too.

02:44:01 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 7:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

02:44:18 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 6:

Home of War of the Roses, Dirty on the 30, and the second date update. The mystery is here. We need to figure out who it belongs to. It is the mystery hair clip. And Shannon, you have your own little War of the Roses going on here, huh? What's the story?

02:44:40 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 4:

Let me start off by saying I love my husband and I trust my husband.

02:44:45 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 6:

Why'd you get in a fight over something?

02:44:47 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

That being said, there are still certain situations that maybe women have been in where you're like, I love my husband and I trust my husband. but

02:45:00 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 1:

wait a second, what the heck is going on? And that is the case for this. So Wes has this black duffel bag that he carries everywhere with him to and from track practices. He's a track coach to and from work, the gym. I don't even know what he's got in there. Some extra clothes, I think, gym clothes, his little hygiene bag with, you know, his toothbrush and floss picks and I don't even know what else. And every day when he gets home from work, he puts this black duffel bag on the bench in our kitchen where it remains until the next morning. And he refreshes everything in there, I guess, and takes it to wherever he needs to go. So yesterday morning, while I was upstairs getting ready for work, this is before the show, my dog Bo gets into this duffel bag and ate a whole bunch of Wes's little mini shampoos and his mouthwash and Q-tips and a whole bunch of stuff in there. So I'm trying to clean up everything on the floor. I grabbed the duffel bag and put it on the kitchen counter so that Bo doesn't have access to it anymore. And I got a little case of the Snoopies, as I call it. I'm like, what is actually in this duffel bag? And there wasn't really much in the bag at this point. But I did find a women's tortoise shell hair clip, claw clip, that definitely was not mine.

02:46:23 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 3:

What's this tortoise shell?

02:46:24 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 1:

Tortoise shell is like brown and with like black spots on it. It's just a pattern. I like the details.

02:46:31 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 2:

It is funny, isn't it?

02:46:32 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 1:

I say this because it's not mine.

02:46:35 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 2:

Shannon gives the description. I'm very descriptive. But it's never like it's kind of a brownish one, but it's no. Trust me, no.

02:46:42 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 1:

It was in my head all day.

02:46:43 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 2:

I think she looked it up, too. What's the brand make? I don't know.

02:46:48 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Because it wasn't mine. It was only sold at the Myers.

02:46:51 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 2:

Did you do serial numbers, too?

02:46:53 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 1:

This bugs me all day yesterday. Now, why I didn't just go upstairs and say, whose hair clip is this in your bag? I got the answer. And I knew it wasn't Lucy's. It's his daughter's. Okay. It is ugly and doesn't look like something that she would have. It just doesn't look like her style. So right off the bat, I ruled out me, I ruled out Lucy, I ruled out Samantha. It looks like a horse. That's what it looks like. It looked like a slutty hair clip.

02:47:16 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Only a whore would have a tortoise shell.

02:47:19 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 1:

So I let this fester all day. This snowballed in my head. of whose hair clip this could be, how it ended up in his famous black duffel bag. Oh, my God. I was, I was, quote unquote, off all day yesterday. And finally, last night, he was like, what is with you? We're hanging out outside on the patio. What is with you? Is everything okay?

02:47:41 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 3:

And I was like, whose hair clip is in your duffel bag? Exploding.

02:47:44 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 1:

And he was like, Shannon, first off, why didn't you just ask me? And he's like, second, I actually don't know whose it is.

02:47:52 - 02:47:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh. I cleaned out. You got to say something else, bro.

02:47:55 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 1:

He goes, I cleaned out the back of my truck.

02:47:58 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 3:

Any random thing that was in there, I threw in the bag.

02:48:01 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 1:

And he's like, it's either Sam's or it's one of her friends that I cart around all the time. And I was like, hmm, okay. And I didn't say anything. And he goes, do you want me to FaceTime her so we can figure out whose it is? And at that point, I felt a little bit like a crazy person. You caved in? Which I am a crazy person. And I was like, no, you don't need to do that.

02:48:23 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

But you don't have the answer.

02:48:24 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 1:

I am dumb and insecure.

02:48:26 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 2:

Do you believe that it belongs to somebody else?

02:48:28 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 1:

Still last night we got in bed and he's like, do you want me to FaceTime Samantha?

02:48:32 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 3:

But you just said it's not Samantha's, right?

02:48:35 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, he didn't know. I thought it. I go, this doesn't look like something Sam would have. And he's like, well, it's either hers or Elena's or Jess's, one of her friends.

02:48:44 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

That is a weak excuse. Like I would have probably.

02:48:46 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 1:

He just sent me a picture of it.

02:48:48 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

He's listening.

02:48:49 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 3:

He just sent me a picture of it. Wes, that's a weak excuse.

02:48:51 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 1:

This is it. Look at that slutty hair clip.

02:48:55 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 2:

That does look... Slutty. No, I was going to say that does... Slutty. That does look kind of interesting. That's his bag too, huh? I think Bianca got a haircut like this. So that bag... Literally just said that. For real? Bianca, were you hanging out with Shannon's husband? Shannon, sorry to break it to you, girl.

02:49:11 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 1:

I love that he sends me a picture of it just now in his wedding rings right there. He knows his angles.

02:49:21 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 2:

You know, we do War of the Roses every single day, and if you don't think that this is one of those typical type of a War of the Roses thing, I found, what was the one that was just found in the car that we just had one not that long ago?

02:49:33 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 3:

No, that lady found drawers in, or panties. Oh, panties. In the garbage can. In the garbage can, yeah. Yeah. The hair clip is insane, though. Yeah. Off the, I don't know how it got there.

02:49:43 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 1:

No, not, and I don't know how it got there. He knew how it got there. Just smell it, by the way. He said, I don't know whose it is. He cleaned out the back of his truck, and that was.

02:49:49 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 2:

Did you look for hair fibers or whatever?

02:49:52 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 1:

You know I'm crazy enough. I probably should have. I did not.

02:49:57 - 02:50:07 | Speaker 2:

That's what they do on Law & Order SVU. They look for hair fibers. hair fibers they you know the dna test they see what the color uh or what it smells like what's

02:50:07 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 6:

up erica how you doing hey good morning everyone how are you we're good what's going on shannon girl i got you you're either a tortoise shell girl or not you know like you're gonna know if it's your claw clip 100 100 and actually i have my own tortoise shell hair clip it does not

02:50:25 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 2:

look like that one though yeah rumor has it girls that use tortoise shell hair clubs no because i said i have one i know but the the one that color one that uh tortoise shell is a color that they give multiple uh amounts of oral uh what's going on suzanne what's going on hey shan i think you're

02:50:44 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 4:

very traumatized at all of the world of roses that you have checked on on the radio yeah i might be

02:50:50 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 2:

yeah let's call i think that's what it is let's call wes up and have nicole see where he sends

02:50:54 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 1:

a dozen. It's so funny, too, is whenever we do War of the Roses and there's some sort of thing that is bothering a girl about her husband or boyfriend's behavior, I'm like, well, did you ask him? Did you ask him? Did you confront him? Right. And even last night, I'm like, I let this bother me for 14 hours before I finally asked him. Lexi, what are your thoughts? Well, I just feel like

02:51:15 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 7:

a lot of these people that are so beautiful are just so insecure when, you know, they have an awesome man that they can trust that it's it's hard yeah but how does that explain a tortoiseshell

02:51:26 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 2:

clip like that it's not like shannon's making up the clip she saw it in his bag

02:51:32 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 7:

well it's just at the end of the day it's you know when you're you know shannon you are absolutely gorgeous you're an awesome human being and it's just when you are in these relationships you're just afraid that you know you have a great looking husband as well and it's you know you both are very attractive people and it's always the insecurity of like the what ifs you know who else is trying to go after these beautiful people that's why you marry ugly people you're saying is

02:52:00 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 2:

that what you're saying no don't lie what's going on samantha hi i don't think that shannon's being

02:52:12 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 4:

anywhere how are you good i don't think she's being insecure at all if you don't suspect that

02:52:18 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 2:

stuff are you even a good wife that's true like if you see it that's not like she's trying to justify crazy no but it's not like she just saw it just sitting there on a floor agree she saw it

02:52:30 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 1:

in his bag his personal bag i think her concerns are justified do you know what i would do by the

02:52:37 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 2:

way if i was really wanting to like mess with people i'd go buy a bunch of tortoise shell hair clips at CVS and I would put them in every guy's bag in the locker room at the gym. You know what I mean?

02:52:50 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 4:

Like, tell me that. This is something off a Frieda McFadden book. Oh, I just read a Frieda McFadden book.

02:52:56 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 1:

That's so funny you said that. She's just a really popular author right now. Is it? Housemaid.

02:53:02 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 2:

The Freedom. Do you know exactly what ends up happening? How do they write it in that book? Is the guy cheating with the

02:53:10 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 1:

I can tell you that. Is that what happens? There's always a big twist.

02:53:15 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Holly? How you doing? Good. How are you? What's going on? Good.

02:53:21 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 5:

My husband was a football coach and had jock straps and mouth guards all over the back of the car. Whoa.

02:53:27 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 2:

Jock straps and mouth guards. Was he having sex with his linemen?

02:53:32 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You never knew where they came from, so I wouldn't be too worried. His mouth guards. Can't leave him on the field.

02:53:38 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 2:

well but why but that doesn't explain a tortoise shell okay all right what's up dave how you doing

02:53:46 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 3:

hey how's it going never called in but i felt compelled what's going on buddy welcome to the party uh thanks um so two days ago uh my wife and i are making the bed and our new puppy is rummaging around under the bed, comes out with women's panties, and I think nothing of it, and my wife goes, who's of these? And I'm like, well, I have no idea. And she's just kind of dangling in front of me saying, these are not mine. This is not my brand. So I'm on the spot. I'm like, what do I say? I mean, any guy's going to say no anyway, but I'm like, how do I make you believe me? Well, we couldn't figure it out. I'm trying to figure out how to explain it. finally we figured it out well we have these folks from out of town that stay with us every once in a while uh my wife sends a picture of it to her and luckily she fessed up and says oh yeah those are mine oh my god why was i'm like oh thank god thank you for fessing up you know it was like

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

i'm sitting there on the spot i'm like i don't know what to say what was your what was your next

02:55:00 - 02:55:03 | Speaker 3:

What was your next move after that? If you didn't have it that, what was your next move? The couch?

02:55:06 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 1:

Probably. Because, you know, she finds them under the bed and they're not hers. That's the worst room to find them in. Exactly. That's horrible.

02:55:14 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, why was that lady in your room? That's crazy. Were you messing around with her?

02:55:19 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 1:

No, sometimes she's in there, you know, getting makeup on. Like last time we went out to a concert, that sort of thing. But really, I think what happened is one of the cucks probably actually stole them. And dragged them under there at some point, and now the dog just dragged it back out in front of everybody.

02:55:35 - 02:55:37 | Speaker 2:

Why was she taking off her underwear in your room?

02:55:38 - 02:55:40 | Speaker 3:

No, he said that it was somewhere else, and the dog brought it over.

02:55:40 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

02:55:41 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm learning from both of these things? Both of you guys got to get rid of those damn dogs that you guys have. That's the problem. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Mojo in the Morning, I was golfing with a buddy, his name is Steve, and we're having a, just so you put a contest to it, this is a Steve thing, okay?

02:56:11 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 2:

Sounds funny.

02:56:12 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 3:

So I'm golfing with Steve, and Steve is talking to me about, you know, like when you go golfing, you talk about a bunch of stuff. You talk about your relationship, you talk about your family, you talk about love. ladies okay we talked about penis size okay so we were having a conversation five irons and steve no no i like to call mine my driver um so steve was telling me about how uh he went to uh and steve's a steve's a guy who i've known for a while uh he's an older dude he's like uh i don't think like maybe late 50s or something. And Steve was telling me how he went to the doctor to go talk to him because if you've ever experienced this, and, Kevin, you will experience this one day, it will happen to you, and it honestly pisses you off, literally. You cannot get all the pee out of your bladder. Like you're peeing, and when you're peeing, you feel like you're peeing, and there's still little water in the cup.

02:57:19 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, for sure. You know what I mean? I've been there before.

02:57:21 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 3:

Like, it feels like there's, you know, how it's like you're trying to empty. It's like it just doesn't, you know, and it, like, dribbles. So he went to the doctor, went to the urologist, because he was worried that he might have some kind of an issue there, you know? A little blockage. Maybe he needs a little Drano. And so he deals with the urologist telling him that everything is fine. They do all kinds of tests. Everything is good. Steve's got a good wiener. All right. Good for Steve. I'm happy for Steve. Then the urologist says to him, and this is where it gets kind of funny. The urologist says to him, hey, we're doing this new thing right now that has gotten to be hugely popular that you should think about. And he said, what's that? And he says, we are using Botox and Restylane on male genitalia. And guys are finding it to be an amazing thing. And Steve says, what? for peeing he goes no for the looks of your penis to make your ball smooth well not necessarily to make just the ball smooth but they say that it makes the penis grow in length and width uh-oh this is probably the biggest drug in the world shannon stop writing stuff down right now i know you want to tell wes about this i'll tell wes who the urologist is he's good oh wow did you hear

02:58:42 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 1:

that no but seriously you must have been a big penis yeah i have never heard that before that's

02:58:49 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 3:

what he said is new he said that the urologist told him that and this is by the way a very reputable urologist and he and i'm not plugging him because he's not an advertiser on the show maybe i need to get see if we can get him uh to advertise i'm gonna call angel today and i'm gonna say angel call on this guy tell him we want i'll endorse that would you do that i'll i want to know how to invest.

02:59:10 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 2:

I know. Don't you think that's a moneymaker? Bro, you get a penis growing drug, that boy's gonna be the number one seller.

02:59:16 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 1:

How much bigger did he tell him it'll make it?

02:59:19 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 3:

He said, well, it's funny, he did it by size of fingers, but he said that if the male penis is this width, like if that width, he says it grows it by this much width.

02:59:28 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 2:

So like 25%. Only width?

02:59:31 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 3:

No. And length. It will get length too because what happens is the rest of the line, I don't even know what rest of the line is. What is rest of the line?

02:59:38 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 2:

It's just another filler.

02:59:40 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

The rest of the line actually enhances the growth. So, okay, so this is an interesting thing. Are there any, where are my guys at? Are there any guys that are, that would do this? Would you guys think about? You have a little penis. I mean, no, don't, don't, don't take it as you're calling up going, yeah, I got a little penis.

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 2:

Every guy wishes that they had a little bit more growth, right? I mean, sure, why not?

03:00:05 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 1:

Like every woman would like to have a large deal. Would you get several shots in your balls and penis area for that growth? Because that's what you'd have to do. It's a shot.

03:00:12 - 03:00:21 | Speaker 3:

No, this isn't something I'm interested in. And I'm damn sure not being a guinea pig. Anytime a doctor says, hey, we got this new drug that just hit the knob, you know.

03:00:21 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 1:

See, I'm the opposite. I'm like, okay. Where do I sign? Yeah, I will do it.

03:00:25 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what a business this must be it's gonna be huge i mean literally

03:00:36 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 3:

they got they got bbls it's time with some bbls yes you know what i'm saying why not um i i think

03:00:45 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 2:

this is kind of one of those things where equal opportunity ladies have vagina shots that they've taking, right, to keep themselves from being able to get them to feel a little bit better down there.

03:00:58 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, there was the O-Shot or whatever it was called to help enhance, like, orgasms. Yeah.

03:01:03 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 3:

It makes you feel.

03:01:04 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if that's still around. That was a thing like 10 years ago.

03:01:07 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's time for us. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? What about you, Alan?

03:01:14 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't do that, but since you brought up golf, I was golfing with a buddy this past weekend and we saw a guy with a driver head cover and it was a pickle and it said big hurt on it i like that he was pulling it off he said little dick syndrome much oh that's funny by the way

03:01:33 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 2:

can i tell you that that would be the funniest i don't know if anybody's ever had a driver head cover that you put on your on your driver that looks like a penis that would be a thing wouldn't it what a great uh advertisement for this urologist doctor of his so you wouldn't try this Alan, if you had an opportunity to do this. I mean, I do Botox in my forehead.

03:01:56 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 5:

Nope. I prefer to age as I do.

03:01:58 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 2:

You want your forehead and your balls to match? I would like them. I feel like the curtain doesn't match the drapes, you know?

03:02:05 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, do women care about wrinkly balls? No, not at all. That's why when you first started talking about this, before you said anything about width and length, I was like, why would you care if your balls were wrinkly or smooth? That's no, I mean, I don't sit there and examine Wes's balls to see if he needs Botox there. It's so weird to me.

03:02:25 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Frank, what's up?

03:02:28 - 03:02:29 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's going on?

03:02:29 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? What do you think about this? Botox balls.

03:02:33 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 7:

Hey, you know what? I think anything to make him look a little younger or, you know, lift a little higher, why not? You know what I mean?

03:02:40 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 2:

That's right. I will tell you this. Lifting higher is a big deal. Go measure Wes right now and then measure him in five years. The gravity just kind of plays itself on you. It's awful.

03:02:51 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 7:

And that's the thing. Yeah, and that's the thing. It's more for me instead of her, you know what I mean? Like, you don't got to sit down on the toilet seat and splash in the pool, you know what I mean?

03:03:01 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 2:

I never thought about that. Yeah. You know? By the way, they're hanging that low, Frank. We got to get you into this urologist. Thank you, buddy.

03:03:09 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 7:

You know, some would say.

03:03:10 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:03:10 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 7:

Well, I was going to just say, you know, some would say, you know, I'm low in doubt, but, you know, who really knows, you know?

03:03:16 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 2:

I know.

03:03:17 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 7:

You know, if they're hanging that low, you know. Yeah, you got to cuff your pants.

03:03:22 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 2:

Roll up your sleeves.

03:03:25 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 7:

But I think ultimately, ultimately, it's up to you. You know what I mean? Like, you know, if, you know, girls want to do, you know, a butt lift, facelift, a boob job, this, that. You know, why couldn't a guy, why can't a guy, you know, For sure.

03:03:38 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely.

03:03:40 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 1:

I just think that would hurt really bad.

03:03:42 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 3:

And it's not a one-time thing, I'm sure. Probably got to go every month.

03:03:46 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, Botox in your face you get a couple times a year.

03:03:48 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Frank. What's up, Seth? What's up, dude? Nothing much, man. What do you think about this, about finally a shot for growth?

03:03:59 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 4:

All right. Number one, how big is the needle that they got to put in you? I'm definitely not putting it in. There's no way I'm getting a shot in my wiener.

03:04:09 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That would be honestly one of those things where I wouldn't want to see the needle. Like, you know how when you were a little kid and the doctor would give you a shot, but they would, like, try to get your mind off of things and talk about other stuff? I would pretty much say, no, I don't want that.

03:04:22 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 3:

They got to put me to sleep if I'm going through it.

03:04:24 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, that's a good point about the actual shot size on this. Hi, Jordan. What's up?

03:04:31 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 6:

Okay, this sounds really good, but new drug, and nobody's done it yet. Like, what if they get this backwards and the side effects are like, I don't know, it shrivels up and falls off. Or, yeah, there's no side effect. What are the side effects?

03:04:48 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's interesting, Jordan, because I always love the drug commercials that we play. And at the end of the thing, there's like 15 seconds of side effects.

03:04:56 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 1:

And they always end with, or even death. Or death.

03:05:00 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 4:

works at a clinic that does this already what do you call these things michelle well we call them

03:05:05 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 1:

the pno shot it's a regenerative medicine clinic patients are put under with um propofol and we harvest stem cells out of a hip and spin them down and then those stem cells the patients woke back up after the harvest then once they're harvested and spun down we put them back to sleep and then they are injected into the outer portion of the penis the tip of the penis even when men are asleep they jump off the table women get them in their g-spot and it's for sexual pleasure and let me

03:05:41 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 4:

ask you do you have a great response from these people after that like when they go home and they

03:05:47 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 1:

get with their partner i've not heard of any great response a great response to the office because this is non-insurance funded and this is cash out of pocket and they make a killing on it.

03:06:00 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 3:

See, that's a whole other conversation. I need to be able to receive the same amount of pleasure and feeling that I have pre-shot, after-shot. If I lose any of that, I don't know.

03:06:09 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I think you're going to get more pleasure. And honestly, you're going to get more pleasure to them, too. Jay has actually had this. Voice disguise for Jay, initial Jay. What's up, Jay? I would be screaming this from the rooftops.

03:06:23 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 5:

first time long time how was it so yeah it wasn't bad um i've had this done and did it out in las vegas uh if you guys look up the dick talk on tiktok uh that's who did mine and not bad at all

03:06:43 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 4:

wait did you say yeah the dick talk is it is it dick or tick tock no i think he said the dick

03:06:49 - 03:06:54 | Speaker 3:

doc on tiktok is that what it is yes oh wow well i mean you know we are going for the iheart radio

03:06:54 - 03:07:00 | Speaker 5:

music oh my god why did you have it done in the first place just because you wanted it to be

03:07:00 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 4:

bigger so i wanted it to have more girth oh okay and did it did it work absolutely wow

03:07:10 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 3:

that's amazing how bad did that hurt yeah it was painful but it wasn't horrible how often do you have to get shots was it a one and done thing or do you have to go back frequently one and done man that's no side it ain't turn purple are you good i mean if you know you have a little

03:07:30 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 5:

some side effect around soreness and stuff like that but how much did it go yeah and and did it go away i mean it'll go away in time so you have to do the maintenance but it's not what's maintenance

03:07:45 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 4:

What kind of maintenance are you doing?

03:07:49 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 5:

As far as, like, pre-injecting.

03:07:52 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's interesting. I was like, what are you doing, honey? I'm doing my maintenance.

03:07:57 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 5:

I want to know how much it is. Yeah, is it expensive? It's very expensive. Thousands.

03:08:03 - 03:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Okay. This is going to be huge. You know what, though? Thousands of dollars. My wife is worth it.

03:09:08 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 4:

All right, top trending stories of the day. We've got a couple for you here.

03:09:14 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 5:

What happened? You dropping stuff over there?

03:09:18 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sorry. All right, a couple for today I want to get into. I know Shannon talked a little bit this morning about a couple of these, but I want to get into a little bit of discussion with you guys. First one I want to bring up is the TSA rolling back on some things right now. the first one uh that was rolled back on was the take your shoes off so this is the uh you know going to the airport having to take your shoes off they decided that that just was something that now the new scanners they can actually scan and not have to worry about people with shoes and it all became a big deal when that shoe bomber guy remember he was coming through detroit Wasn't it like Christmas?

03:10:00 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Christmas time or something.

03:10:00 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was a guy actually here. A guy tried to put a bomb in his shoe. And it was at Detroit Metro Airport. Now, I will say this to you. What a risk. It's amazing the technology that we have, that we have AI technology, and that they don't already know when you're walking through the airport what you got on your... I'm guessing that they see us naked walking through. Like that they have scans on there, and they're looking, and they're giggling in the back room. Don't you think?

03:10:29 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 2:

I've never had, like, I've always said this, I want to feel as safe as possible on an airplane. So whatever you need to do, do. But the shoe thing and the liquids thing, I've always just been like, this doesn't, this doesn't make me feel any safer.

03:10:43 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 3:

After a shoe bomber, I mean, who knows what these people, you got a straight razor in your shoe, you got whatever you want. I like it. You like it? I'm sure that I'll have different shoes on now because I always try to pick, like, sandals. Same. You know what I mean? Easy on, easy off. Yeah, exactly.

03:10:58 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem hinted in an interview that the TSA might relax its 3-1-1 liquids rule. The rule that you cannot bring in liquids that go past, what is it?

03:11:15 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 1:

3.4 ounces. 3.4 ounces. I just want you to know the day I walked in the door, I started questioning everything TSA does. You still need pre-check because if you want to leave your electronics in your bag and things like that. Is that the only reason? There are a few things, but I will tell you, I'm, I mean, the liquids, I'm questioning. So that may be the next big announcement is what size your liquids need to be. We're looking at, you know, our scanners. We have put in place in TSA a multilayered screening process that allows us to change some of how we do security and screening. So it still is safe. It is still a process that is protecting people who are traveling on our airlines. But it has to make sense. It has to actually do something to make you safer. I don't think that was questioned under the Biden administration.

03:12:00 - 03:12:57 | Speaker 4:

You know, it's interesting. They have said that they're they put so much into the TSA security over the last decade that they stopped putting everything into how the actual planes are flying and all of the security of landing certain planes at certain times without another plane getting involved. that we put so much money into those screen or those, you know, things that we walk through and you see the stuff that we put our bags into that they took money out of the budget for the FAA guys that are up in the towers to have the best equipment that's up there and the amount of money we're paying them. But the problem is they're saying that we're like more than two decades away from actually getting that stuff up and running, which makes no sense. Like, wouldn't you think that the biggest thing that needs to be secure is if a plane's going to actually fall out of the sky or not?

03:12:57 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 3:

We waste so much money in this country on dumb stuff, man.

03:13:00 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:13:00 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 3:

It does not make sense.

03:13:04 - 03:13:30 | Speaker 4:

This story is pretty wild because I know some of you guys are going to say a man is shopping for groceries and he's in this store. He's at a Publix store in Alabama shopping for meat when he notices that the prices are way too low. What would you do if you noticed that the prices are way too low when you're looking at meat out of that little meat counter that's there?

03:13:31 - 03:13:49 | Speaker 2:

God, look at these prices on ground pork. We're going to have to go check and see if they have any more ground pork over there. Let's look up in here. No. Not so little more ground pork.

03:13:51 - 03:14:50 | Speaker 4:

All right, so he goes in there. Listen to this. The guy looked for ground pork. The signs were accidentally placed on the ribeye steak, an obvious underpricing. After the shopper filled up his cart, staff spotted and then fixed the mistake before more customers took advantage of it. This mistake likely came from manual labeling of the items. All right, so here is the legal angle of this. Consumers aren't legally required to alert staff about pricing errors. Often disputes will happen during the stores, you know, and the customer. and the customers will say only if they were overcharged. And some shoppers argue that stores should honor the display lower prices, but retailers typically correct these mistakes quickly and don't ever have to worry about it. What would you guys do if you noticed that there was an error, a genuine error?

03:14:50 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 3:

First thing I'm doing is checking the date that the product is best used by or the first sale to make sure it's not bad meat. Yeah, just to make sure it's not bad. If it's good meat, the second thing I'm doing is fill it.

03:15:00 - 03:15:03 | Speaker 5:

in my damn cart up. Really? So you wouldn't say to them,

03:15:03 - 03:15:13 | Speaker 4:

hey, that's not my fault. You don't believe, though, that karma's going to come back and bite you? How do I know that's not good karma? That the meat got priced lower? And now I'm reaping the benefits.

03:15:13 - 03:15:20 | Speaker 5:

Okay, how about this? What if you found out that there was one guy that's going to lose his job because you took a cart full of meat?

03:15:20 - 03:15:29 | Speaker 4:

You're doing too much. You added all these layers, man. I'm trying to fit a narrative. No, I'm asking you that question. It's not going to affect the bottom line like crazy.

03:15:29 - 03:15:32 | Speaker 5:

So you want to see the guy to be fired?

03:15:32 - 03:15:54 | Speaker 3:

No, you love bending this in your direction, man. Shannon, what do you think? Honestly, what I probably would do was get a few of them, put them in my car and go up thinking I wasn't going to say anything and be like, I'm getting a deal here. And I know my conscience would be screaming at me. So as they were checking me out, I'd probably be like, is that right? No, I was like out myself.

03:15:55 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 5:

Let me ask you this question then. This is a big one. What if you found out or looked at it and noticed that they didn't charge you for all the items in your cart? You're already at your car, putting them in your car.

03:16:07 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm going home.

03:16:08 - 03:16:09 | Speaker 5:

You don't go back in and say?

03:16:10 - 03:16:24 | Speaker 4:

You want me to, wait a second. Why do you keep saying it's a blessing? It is a blessing. You want me to, you're telling me that they didn't charge me for all my items. Yes. I'm putting them in my car. I realize it. You want me to go back in the store and say, hey, I actually owe you a hundred extra dollars.

03:16:25 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 5:

That's never going to happen. I just don't understand why it is that you have to be such a religious figure. I'm going to go back to that guy that called up that one day. I love you. How is cab sober? I love you.

03:16:35 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 3:

However, remember a couple of years ago when there was like a, something was wrong with the Spanx website and I had a code. Somebody gifted me. Somebody gave me a code that everything that you put in your cart, it was free. Beautiful. Shannon was. I probably had 20 items in my cart. But then they figured it out, and they canceled everybody's orders. I was so mad.

03:16:57 - 03:17:01 | Speaker 5:

Shannon was putting so many items in her cart, it was like you with the ribeyes.

03:17:01 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 4:

Listen, Spanx was sold for $1.2 billion.

03:17:06 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 5:

Let Shannon have her car. There you go. And last but not least, President Trump says that he has persuaded Coca-Cola to make a change when it comes to its sugar. He wrote on his Truth Social platform, I have been speaking with Coca-Cola about using real cane sugar and Coke in the United States like they do in other places. He said that they're going to stop using the high fructose corn syrup version of Coca-Cola. And in this I say, just be the president and stop going out there and messing with my Coke. I love my Coke. Honestly, I only like the Coca-Cola. I call it Mexican Coke because they have it in Mexico.

03:17:52 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, everybody calls it Mexican Coke.

03:17:54 - 03:18:06 | Speaker 5:

I only like it occasionally. I like the regular version of Coke better than the Mexican Coke. I think it's too sugary. But the Mexican Coke is the regular version. No, but I like the version that we have with all the chemicals.

03:18:06 - 03:18:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't. I don't. I love Mexican Coke. Are you just used to it?

03:18:10 - 03:18:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I think so. Like, I've had the other one, and I feel like you can only have one where the other Cokes, like I could fill up at the McDonald's all the time.

03:18:21 - 03:18:22 | Speaker 3:

You can taste the chemicals in it to me.

03:18:23 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 5:

Can they make McDonald's Coke in a can instead of putting, like I like the taste of a McDonald's Coke, and it might be that straw.

03:18:30 - 03:18:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, Andy, I think they add a little bit more syrup to theirs. I love the taste.

03:18:34 - 03:18:37 | Speaker 5:

You don't think that a perfect amount comes out in those?

03:18:37 - 03:18:40 | Speaker 3:

No, a fatter straw, everything tastes better. I don't drink Cokes.

03:18:40 - 03:18:47 | Speaker 4:

I literally, I don't know if I've, maybe once in my life I've had an option and said, I'll have Coke. It don't work.

03:18:47 - 03:18:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't normally drink pop either, but if I do. I'm going lemonade. I love it. I'm going Berners.

03:18:51 - 03:18:57 | Speaker 5:

All right. That does it for today. We are done for today. What's up, Art? How you doing? Quickly, I got to leave, Art, but go ahead.

03:18:59 - 03:19:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was at Walmart one time, and I scanned a bottle of champagne that was $20, and it rang up to zero, so I went back and got every bottle off the shelf.
