Let me take that back to the beginning.

00:02:35 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 5:

This is it.

00:02:36 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 6:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:38 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

00:02:40 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 6:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:02:45 - 00:02:46 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:02:47 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 6:

I do have to ask Kevin a question. So we get a group text from Kevin. And usually if you get a group text from Kevin, you got to check the times. Because sometimes, Kev, middle of the night, will send a story or send just a quick text to us. And I'm like, what time does this guy go to bed?

00:03:07 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, why is he up?

00:03:09 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 6:

Well, last night, Kevin did something that I thought was interesting. At about 11.47 p.m., it says here, time stamped on the group text, there are a picture of two salads, beautiful salads. They look wonderful. Very fresh. I think one must be a Cobb salad, am I guessing? The other one may be just a chicken salad or something. And then it says, late night Coney salad, couldn't resist.

00:03:38 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 7:

Couldn't resist. I don't care what they're telling me about this lettuce. I'm going to eat what I want to eat. You ate it. I did. That's the same salad, though. Really? Yeah, shout out to Nicky D's, grilled chicken, chicken breast. That's the vibe right there. That's one salad that came in the container. Wow. And then I split it and ate the one that's in the bowl.

00:03:54 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 6:

Who, like Kevin, does this? Who eats late like this? This is late. That's midnight. You're eating dinner at midnight?

00:04:01 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 7:

That's the reason for 24-hour food spots. People eat around the clock. DoorDash? No, I went and got it. I was out last night. I was at my cousin's house. I had to help a friend with an event. And the only thing I had to eat yesterday was Jemay's bagels. So that bagel and that donut I had yesterday was the only thing I ate until that moment.

00:04:18 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 6:

They don't have craft services at this movie?

00:04:21 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

I wasn't there yet. I didn't have to shoot yesterday. Oh, no. I shoot today. But they do, though, yeah.

00:04:25 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 6:

I think it's interesting. Like, I have friends that are like you. Not that you're not a friend. I'm not a fan. But I have friends that will be out eating dinner at, like, midnight. Like, Red Coat by our house. so the red coat in west bloomfield is open till 2 a.m and it's like 1 a.m and they're just

00:04:46 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

finishing up and i'm like that's crazy wes and i just got invited out to dinner by another couple and he the the husband sent me the dinner reservation to so i could see it 9 45 p.m i said you are out out of your freaking mind.

00:05:01 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 2:

He couldn't get a reservation.

00:05:03 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 1:

For sure. I go to dinner at like six, five. Five even is even better.

00:05:08 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Did y'all body just shut down? Like y'all don't eat later than seven o'clock?

00:05:12 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 1:

I will fall asleep at the table. I've done it so many times. It's so embarrassing. I just know better now on a Friday night.

00:05:18 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 3:

The worst is the next day trying to digest that. You know, like I couldn't do it and then come in and do the show. Maybe a Friday or a Saturday or a Saturday or Sunday.

00:05:27 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 2:

When did you? You don't have a late night, Coney. You ain't ever left the bar and got hungry?

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:05:32 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 3:

When I'm drinking, that's fine. Like, I've done, listen, I've done Taco Bell to the house at, you know, who knows what hours. But that's usually when I'm drinking. But if I'm just, like, dinner time, like, Shannon brings up something interesting. There are many times I've wanted to eat at restaurants that are very popular. I will go on Open Table or Resi, the apps that get you reservations, and the only time that they'll have a reservation will be 9 or 9.45.

00:05:57 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

It's like 4, 4 p.m. or 9.45 p.m. The worst option.

00:06:02 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

And I'm thinking to myself, if I get a 9.45 reservation, they basically are giving me the guy that came at 6 o'clock's leftovers. Yeah.

00:06:10 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

I feel like if I get a reservation that late, I'm not eating anything heavy. Like, it's probably going to be a lot of drinks and, like, some shareables. Some ass. Appetizers, yeah.

00:06:19 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Jordan, can you believe Kev was able to digest a salad and be in here for work this morning?

00:06:26 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 5:

that's good that's not what i'm concerned about i'm i'm sorry if you're in a group chat with me and you text me your food at midnight you're gonna throw it out of the group chat so here's

00:06:38 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

the thing i told kevin this it woke me up the the the ding exactly don't wake me up yeah hey man

00:06:46 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 2:

listen if you don't want to be up they got settings on the iphone i don't know if you're a green guy or an iphone guy android versus iphone put your sleep button on then you won't get

00:06:56 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

disturbed they got settings for that i can't uh but here's the thing i can't do it because i'm afraid that i'll oversleep for the show so i always feel like i can't your alarm will still work what's up david how you doing i'm doing good how are you good david are you a late night guy

00:07:10 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 6:

oh yeah 100 it'll be like 10 30 11 o'clock i'll be like kevin i'm like let me make a full meal and eat it my people do you wait yeah it's the opposite like five six o'clock in the afternoon she's like oh crap it's dinner time let's eat yeah i'm like this is early do y'all fall asleep

00:07:32 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

immediately after because like i need to let my food digest before i get in bed sometimes so i

00:07:38 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

ate that salad for hours after oh gosh will you wait what'd you make that in bed i laid down and I ate that salad.

00:07:44 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait, that's how Elvis died.

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

And then you fell asleep? I'm not Elvis.

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Didn't he?

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Didn't he brush your teeth?

00:07:49 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I probably... Not Elvis.

00:07:50 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

Elvis died in the toilet. It was Mother Cass or whatever her name was. I know the woman. She died eating.

00:07:57 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I don't brush my teeth every night.

00:07:59 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm a morning brush. So can I tell you something, David? You talk about the difference in time that you guys eat. Chelsea and I are so now on the same time because she got used to my time. We would eat dinner at 4 o'clock and be happy with that.

00:08:13 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no way, bro.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you.

00:08:15 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, I couldn't do that.

00:08:16 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

And then you, she calls it the 4 o'clock skinny, because if you eat at 4 o'clock, then you feel like you're digested through the night, and you wake up, you know, hungry. Skinny. Yeah, skinny. I don't know. I do do it in the morning.

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I would need another snack after that.

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, what time do you go into bed?

00:08:34 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 6:

Well, I work midnight now, but before that, I didn't go to bed until about 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning.

00:08:40 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Wow. By the way, this salad that Kevin posted on our group text is a very fresh-looking salad. I don't know what Coney that is, but that Coney has, like, for the fact that they made that at 11 o'clock, I'm guessing, 11.15, that thing was so fresh-looking.

00:08:56 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

It was delicious. Get you some raspberry vinaigrette, spread it all around that thing. Good to go. Nice little peat on the side. Eat it straight out the foil.

00:09:04 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

The chicken looked like they grilled it right then and there. it did not look like they had it just sticking in like their little under a heat lamp yeah

00:09:11 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

shout out nicky d's on jefferson across belle isle that's where i go that can i go there tonight

00:09:17 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

after the rooster town 24 7 probably right there i was thinking about this with the the listener that called us the other morning and played the five of 655 and she worked at the 24 hour restaurant in plymouth yeah but i was thinking like those spots that are the late night spots are the best Because my favorite part of going out on a weekend is not going out. It's going to breakfast or something. Late night food. Yeah. For sure. That's where all the gossip comes. That's where you find out who got phone numbers on cocktail napkins.

00:09:47 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Gossip.

00:09:48 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember when you'd get phone numbers on napkins? Or did you guys always put them in your phone?

00:09:52 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

No, when I was younger, yeah, you had to write it down, piece of paper or something like that.

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I was talking to Jeff Sackwell about this, and he goes, you remember that? And he goes, you'd look at the thing.

00:10:00 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

and go, is that a four or a three? And you would realize the girl gave you a wrong number. Anyway, it doesn't matter. You just thought you couldn't read it, you know? Especially tough. All right. He'll appreciate that one. All right. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We give you clues.

00:10:17 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 3:

00:12:46 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:

Don't breathe in. Words that were said after Kev just farted in the studio.

00:12:52 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

When did I fart? Oh, I was like, you did? I actually didn't hear it.

00:12:55 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

And with the fire outside. Giving you Morgan Wallen tickets. A week from tonight, Morgan Wallen is finally going to be here at the Big House. And you can win tickets now. So if you are just like Morgan, maybe have a little bit of a temper. The guy's got kind of a bad temper.

00:13:39 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 3:

He does. Yeah. A little history.

00:13:41 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. If you can throw, get ready, because we're going to have a good contest for you next week.

00:13:47 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:13:49 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, good morning. How are you?

00:13:51 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:13:52 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 4:

I am, I don't know why I'm, I'm actually not really happy. It's one of those things where I'm fake energying it right now. Same, I'm so wiped. But I think it might be a day that if we say maybe a cocktail Friday, we might have to mix one.

00:14:06 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm down.

00:14:07 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 4:

Let's do the limousa. You weren't drinking anymore. I wasn't until today. I actually have been really good. Like I've been trying to like keep my drinking to just the weekends like I used to do. The problem was Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays all looked really good too. So what's happening in the dirty this morning?

00:14:24 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, shredded iceberg lettuce supplied by a company called Taylor Farms has been linked to this cyclosporiasis explosive diarrhea outbreak.

00:14:36 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

The FDA thinks a possible culprit for the outbreak in four states is iceberg lettuce supplied to Taco Bell by Taylor Farms, according to a person familiar with the investigation. nationwide nearly 7 000 americans have gotten sick from something called cyclosporiasis a parasite-borne illness triggering cramps and severe diarrhea

00:15:00 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 6:

a potential source, the first step in solving a problem that impacts a total of 34 states.

00:15:07 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 5:

How soon could it end? It could end several weeks after they've identified a source and been able to issue those consumer safety recalls or being able to kind of make sure that any source is off the

00:15:21 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 6:

market, out of refrigerators, off shelves completely. In Michigan, there are 4,312 cases and climbing. One of them is Natalie Webb. I don't ever want to have to experience anything like that again. Taylor Farms, the nation's largest supplier of lettuce and leafy greens, has been linked to previous outbreaks. It voluntarily recalled yellow onions after E. coli was found.

00:15:45 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 4:

All right, then we need to stop these guys. I hate to say this. If you had one outbreak and then another outbreak, okay, I'm not waiting for strike three. It remains the same, Tom. That is to wash your produce.

00:15:55 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 6:

All right, we don't know.

00:15:56 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 7:

I mean, 4,300 cases in Michigan as of this morning. Okay. More than.

00:16:02 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 3:

There's got to be more, yeah.

00:16:03 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I think a lot of people aren't reporting it because it's embarrassing.

00:16:06 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 4:

But how many people eat at Taco Bell?

00:16:08 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 7:

But it's not just Taco Bell. So I saw an article online, and I'm not going to be able to go back and find it right now, but Taylor Farms doesn't just supply lettuce to Taco Bell. It supplies it to a lot of different grocery stores, fast food restaurants, chain restaurants. So I don't know why Taco Bell was so singled out, but.

00:16:27 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Crazy.

00:16:29 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 7:

Yesterday at Fanatics Fest, fans were hoping LeBron James would use the opportunity to reveal his next NBA home, but he did not. He joined a live episode of the Mind the Game podcast with Indiana Pacer star Tyrese Halliburton. And right off the bat, he made it clear he was not going to make any big announcements.

00:16:47 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 2:

It's a big decision for not only myself, but for my family as well. just for the last part of my career and where I want to spend the last few years or the last year or the last two years of, you know, my NBA career. So wherever I go, Elon, I will make my stable on just...

00:17:03 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Eli was like a little kid.

00:17:05 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 2:

You know, I'm going to try to fit into whatever team I'm going into.

00:17:09 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 7:

They thought, like, maybe the kid can get him to answer the question.

00:17:12 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, it was the funniest thing is that all these little kids were asking questions because there's a lot of kids that were there. And the little kids were, like, better journalists than most of the journalists that were there.

00:17:21 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 7:

And lastly, Britney Spears sparking baby rumors on Instagram after sharing a photo of a onesie with the name Phoenix on it, a pink baby hat, and some little baby bloomers. She wrote, If you're lucky, I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to, hopefully this year. And she didn't provide much context other than that, but in the post, she also shared a photo of her holding one of her sons. And another photo of her son and a young woman. So maybe hinting she's going to be a grandma at some point this year. I don't know. That's kind of what I took away from it.

00:17:59 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Would that not be weird? I mean, it's conceivably possible that she could be a grandparent. But Brittany has a grandmother.

00:18:05 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:18:06 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Yep.

00:18:07 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 7:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Good to have you guys here with us today. I got a lot to get to this morning. Oh, my gosh. Lydia just sent in the group text what it looked like at Cedar Point yesterday.

00:18:35 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 7:

That is insanity. How was it even open?

00:18:38 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, but it's funny. They canceled a bunch of things, including last night they canceled a concert, an outdoor concert, the John Mellencamp concert.

00:18:46 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:18:48 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 4:

So there was no little ditty about Jack and Diane.

00:18:51 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 7:

I love that song.

00:18:52 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 4:

At Pynab. What will we do? The other, well, you know what? Is he going to join us tonight? I don't think so. I think that they'll have to reschedule it, I think, because they have another, they probably have other stuff that's going on. I mean, reschedule for Yacht Rock. They can't. There's too many people going. He can just come over. He's not necessarily Yacht Rock, though. Everybody's Yacht Rock. Um, then did you see the video that Lydia sent yesterday that was posted in, uh, I don't know what service it is, but it was a posted of what wildfires do to people, uh, in Detroit and all the crazy, crazy, like people getting, uh, getting a little amped up, uh, out and about on the streets. Do you see this at night, Anna, like from out of your window at all? Like the people, like the girls twerking and jumping on cars and stuff like that.

00:19:39 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I wake up at 3.30 or 3.45 and I hear it outside. So I look outside and I'm like, oh, the bar across the street's still turning up.

00:19:48 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what I want to get invited to? And I don't know if anybody would invite me. I mean, maybe I can say, hey, you used to listen to this radio show when you were a kid. You don't realize it, but you're...

00:20:00 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 1:

mom listened when she was probably pregnant with you but um will you invite me to the things that happen where they all of a sudden uh pull up in cars and start doing a bunch of donuts in the middle of an intersection say less i i've seen that happening downtown though where is that at is that like uh southfield or where highland it's highland park i don't know detroit somewhere but i couldn't imagine downtown well i can't even find parking downtown when i'm trying to go to Six Salon or to Layla and Bobby.

00:20:29 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 3:

H&M.

00:20:31 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 1:

When I see these videos, and it's funny, it's always the Metro Detroit News. If you don't follow, that's a great follow. Metro Detroit News has videos always of what's this? Look at that.

00:20:48 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Looks like a vibe.

00:20:49 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 1:

I'll only invite you

00:20:55 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 2:

if you start doing donuts in the Suburban

00:20:58 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 1:

you know what he'll be eating donuts can I be honest I don't think I could get that car going donuts unless it was like snowy I've done it before in the 12 Oaks Mall parking lot like where I've gone in there and it's all full of snow and I said to the kids I go watch this and my kids are like You are scared to do that?

00:21:22 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know that I've ever done it. Either I would throw up or I would tip the car.

00:21:28 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 1:

Can somebody explain to me, do they send out an Evite to invite everybody?

00:21:37 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 2:

I think there's just gatherings of older, cool car vehicles. Is that what it is? And then it transpires.

00:21:43 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 1:

I always wondered, where are they telling everybody that this is where we're going to get? Or as Kevin says, pull up. Where are we all pulling up at?

00:21:51 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine if that happened during the Dream Cruise on Woodward next month? I'd love it. If there was just one specific intersection where you had to do donuts to keep going forward down Woodward.

00:22:02 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 1:

Woodward Long Lake. I would like that. That's kind of away from all the kids that are out there on the corners.

00:22:08 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 3:

Old guys.

00:22:09 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Ellie, what's up, Ellie? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:22:12 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:22:13 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. How are you doing?

00:22:15 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 4:

So it's called Sunday Funday.

00:22:19 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 1:

Sunday fun day.

00:22:21 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes, when they all get together, it's all, like, anywhere, new cars, older cars, chargers, challengers, and it's usually age demographic of, like, 18, and I've seen all the way up until, like, 40s and 50s.

00:22:36 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 1:

Can I be honest? I think you're talking about something different than my thing. The thing I'm talking about is where they're, like, literally surrounding the cops, and, And, like, you know, the cops are out there getting, like, you know, you see all the smoke from the tires going around them. Yes. That's Sunday Funday?

00:22:52 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 4:

What they do is they'll take over. Yes. So it doesn't always happen on Sunday. It originated, they would do it on, like, Saturdays and Sundays. And then it's just kind of turned into they'll do it all different times. Have you been? They'll get together. Yeah. They'll get together. They'll send out a message. and next thing you know, they take over a certain intersection and there'll be like 50 cars where two or three, maybe four, would be spinning.

00:23:15 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 1:

Can you add my phone number to the group text? I want to know when this goes on. Like, I want to hear about that.

00:23:23 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, I can tell my niece because she's the one that does the text messaging. I'm kind of a scaredy cat, so I just kind of live seriously through her.

00:23:31 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 1:

You're scared of what? The cops or something? Oh, the police. Yeah.

00:23:34 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:23:35 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 1:

I get it. Yeah. All right, Sunday fun day. We'll have to Sunday Funday it and see what's going on. What's going on, Chris? How you doing?

00:23:44 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 2:

So I just need to make a quick comment about you and wanting to go do donuts. Yes. So first of all, takeovers are what you're talking about. Takeovers are unsafe. You take over an entire, like, intersection, do donuts. Those are unsafe and unwarranted in the car community. What you're going to be looking for is a car show that has a takeover section. It has like a drift section and it has a donut section.

00:24:10 - 00:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Yeah. And that, but you know what we used to do back in the day, I don't know if you ever remember, uh, back in the day we used to host our radio station would host car takeovers at the silver dome. So back when the silver dome was still there, but nobody was playing in it when, you know, they had already moved, we would take over the parking lot and have car shows. That's kind of what you're talking about. Cause I remember there were guys that would do stuff like that, that they would do like, I used to call them burnouts, you know, or, or, I don't know, skeething was kind of like hanging on the back when it was wintertime. Do you remember skeething? Different definitions. So those ones are more appropriate ones because you're doing it in an area where it's a controlled environment, not in the middle of an intersection when people are trying to go home, right? Yes. Yes, exactly. Okay. All right. Well. What car club are you part of? And first off, what do you drive?

00:25:04 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't drive anything that can do anything crazy. I just have a Saturn Aura. Saturn Aura. That's vintage.

00:25:11 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 1:

That is vintage. They don't even have those cars anymore. He's the photographer. No, they do not.

00:25:16 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 2:

This car is holding on by a thread in hopes.

00:25:21 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. I always wanted a Civic because of Fast and Furious. I always wanted to get a little Civic. Hitting the NOS button, that's a dream. That's a dream. It's the best. All right, Chris. Well, thanks for the call. I appreciate it. He's the photographer. All he's done is he's doing jellyfish.

00:25:39 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 3:

Mojo's summer of cars, cash, and gas is driven by Gordon Chevrolet in Garden City. Your chance to win happens in minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

00:25:47 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 1:

You think Mike Porter at Gordon Chevrolet will let us take that Trax out that we're giving away? That'd be a good promo.

00:25:53 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:25:55 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 2:

We're going to Sunday Funday, Mike.

00:26:04 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, Crystal is going for her sixth win in a row. She wants to wrap up the week with five straight wins. Dylan is your challenger. Dylan, it says here, you're from Rudolph. Where is Rudolph?

00:26:19 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 2:

About 10 minutes outside of Bowling Green.

00:26:22 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Well, hello. Oh, do they do a big celebration at Christmas time for Rudolph?

00:26:28 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, we do. We're also called, like, the dearest little village around. Oh, that's the cutest.

00:26:33 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that is so cute. That's cute. I like it. Shannon and I were like, that's cute. You guys all over here. Crystal, I'm locking you up in a soundproof area here, okay?

00:26:46 - 00:26:46 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:26:47 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 1:

30 seconds. Pass on that one.

00:27:53 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And question number five. Priyanka Chopra is celebrating her birthday tomorrow. Which Jonas brother is she married to? Is it Joe, Nick, or Kevin?

00:28:07 - 00:28:07 | Unknown:

I wish.

00:28:07 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Nick. Let's bring our champ back from the soundproof area. We're ending a Friday with a good challenge.

00:28:14 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 3:

Four out of five. I'm very impressed.

00:28:17 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 1:

Nice. Four out of five is what you got to do here, at least, Crystal.

00:28:23 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:28:23 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 1:

If you get this question right, you'll come into next week and you'll be working towards double digits. If you miss it, Dylan from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose. Ohio will be our champion. Good luck, Crystal.

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:30:01 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 3:

Question number five. Priyanka Chopra is celebrating her birthday tomorrow. Which Jonas brother is she married to? Is it? Nick. Oh, I don't even need to say it.

00:30:12 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 5:

There we go. She wins at the time. Great week of wins.

00:30:21 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 3:

Crystal.

00:30:23 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 5:

It's my birthday Sunday, too, so that's good. Beautiful.

00:30:27 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday. Happy birthday for my birthday. How are you celebrating?

00:30:31 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 5:

Going to Ohio for a Cody Johnson concert. Okay. We'll do that.

00:30:37 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 3:

We're a country artist, right? Big country artist? Yeah. And where is that concert? Columbus. All right. Well, hey, if you pass through Rudolph, will you say hello to Dylan on your way?

00:30:50 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 5:

I will. And can I give a shout-out to my boss, Maria, for letting me always walk away to do this? Yeah, absolutely.

00:30:56 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Maria is a good one. Maria, you're getting a nice gift on National Bosses Day. Okay? We're going to make sure you get a nice gift. Congratulations to Crystal. A great week of shows. And Dylan, we're going to set you up with a gift. Thank you to Urban Air for sponsoring this entire week. Lydia, we'll talk to you and get some good stuff. Okay, buddy? I appreciate you listening. Thank you, guys. Have a great weekend, guys. Appreciate you both. You too.

00:31:25 - 00:31:51 | Speaker 2:

In the mornings, 5 at 6.55. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show.

00:31:51 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, Shannon, we've got Anna, Kev, Lydia, Bianca, Zach. Thanks for being here with us. Also, Charlie and Daniel, shout out to those guys working their butts off in Grand Rapids and Toledo. Anna, real quick, hold on, before I get to Anna. Robin, are you there, Robin?

00:32:14 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:32:15 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

Hi, what's happening?

00:32:17 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 4:

So when I'm on the track, we can go do donuts or go get donuts. Okay. All right.

00:32:25 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 5:

I love that manifesting this morning.

00:32:26 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

I saw you sitting there on hold there for a second, and I'm thinking to myself, what does Robin have? Okay, when did you qualify for the tracks?

00:32:36 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 4:

Last week, I think. It was a Monday. I think it was last Monday.

00:32:40 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 3:

You will win that in August, I think it is, if I'm not mistaken. It is August the 14th, so we will see you August the 14th at Gordon Chevrolet.

00:32:53 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 4:

I will be there, and I'm going to wear my jorts. just for shaman oh my god oh my god i love you i hope you win that is wonderful uh well robin we

00:33:03 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 3:

will see you there okay and i i will take you up on one of those donut offers probably the donut in the car because i got a gluten allergy and i don't think they make gluten-free donuts

00:33:11 - 00:33:19 | Speaker 4:

well maybe i should bring you a dependence just in case thank you i don't want you to boo-boo in

00:33:19 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 3:

my new car yeah you do not want that happening all right it's mojo in the morning so anna and her friend are going out to hang but Anna said that she's got a stipulation to this friend

00:33:32 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 1:

on what they wear is that right yes it is my gbff and we're going out tomorrow and I told him I need you to dress very gay here's why um he was complaining that like when we go out he's like you need to get some drinks bought for you you need to get some numbers and I was telling him I was like nobody approaches me because you're literally with me like you are a man that's with me whether they think you're straight or gay they are not approaching me because you're next to me and if you want them to approach me I need you to look flamboyantly gay to the point where like they're not they're not concerned about you and they're just going to approach me his argument is that they should just know already and they should have the balls to approach me regardless Interesting. But I think that he's C-blocking me.

00:34:23 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean by he needs to dress gay?

00:34:27 - 00:34:36 | Speaker 1:

Wear the florals, wear the linens, the pinks, the baby blues. Like, I need you to look. I need people to know that you're gay. Yeah.

00:34:36 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 3:

What's wrong with pinks, by the way? I just like to know.

00:34:39 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gosh, you're wearing a pink shirt. I didn't even realize that.

00:34:42 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that sounded gay.

00:34:44 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that sounded gay. I need you to come off gay because I think sometimes he doesn't. And it really hurts me when I'm trying to find men.

00:34:54 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Does that happen in non-GBFF situations? Does that happen, though, with just...

00:35:00 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 4:

guy friends like have you ever seen like you have a guy friend that you just have a platonic

00:35:05 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 1:

relationship with or a guy yeah i think regardless and i actually wanted to ask you and kevin like if you see a girl out with a guy are you approaching her whether you think he's straight or gay kevin's you did recently oh yeah remember the late the girl in traffic yeah but i feel like

00:35:22 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 3:

that deters you know yeah absolutely yeah i mean it definitely creates a a barrier an extra thought But, I mean, I think if you are as interested in a person, that level of interest will dictate whether you don't care or not. In that situation, I did not care.

00:35:38 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 4:

In yours, what did the guy, because I know she was driving her car or whatever.

00:35:42 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 3:

They were walking across the street together. You were driving. Yeah, I was in the car parked. And you just said something? She was just so bad, dog. I knew he was there, but I was so focused on her that he didn't even really factor into my mind.

00:35:57 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 4:

You were moving in on another man's woman and they were, they were not together. I don't think she said she was single. Yeah. Was he wearing pink?

00:36:04 - 00:36:04 | Unknown:

No.

00:36:05 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

No floral, no baby blues.

00:36:07 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

Anna, when you and your GBFF are out, is, is it obvious though that you guys aren't together based on just like your interactions and mannerisms and stuff like that?

00:36:16 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 1:

I make it obvious. I'm like, stay away from me. Like, keep your distance. If the waiter comes up to me and I think he's cute, like somehow I try to slip in that this man is gay. Like, I don't know. I feel like I try to make it obvious, but just like looking from the naked eye, I feel like it deters the men.

00:36:34 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 4:

You're walking. A guy comes up. You go, this is my friend. I always introduce him. Do we ever know his name or no?

00:36:40 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 1:

His name's Joel, but my GBFF.

00:36:43 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 4:

This is my friend Joel. I like Wiener. And he has to like run away.

00:36:47 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 1:

I do. I'm always like, this is my GBFF or this is my gay best friend because I want them to know this is not my man.

00:36:52 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever lost a guy to your GBFF? Like, have you ever lost a guy that maybe is bi?

00:36:59 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 1:

We have way different types.

00:37:01 - 00:37:11 | Speaker 4:

But has there ever been a situation where the guys that you look at in the bar and you're going, that guy is so hot. And then next thing you know, Joel ends up getting hit on by him.

00:37:11 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

Maybe sometimes if they're like on the DL or Joel will sniff them out. Like, he'll be like, I'll be like, that guy's cute. And he's like, no, like he goes the other way. I'm like, oh, dang it.

00:37:22 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what's so funny is I can relate to this kind of in the opposite effect where if I'm out with just my friend, Justin, who is gay and has a partner, I'm like, I want people to know he's gay so that they don't think that I'm out with another guy. Do you know what I mean?

00:37:39 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:37:39 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:37:39 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 4:

I've had that happen where I've gone out with like women friends, like female friends that are not, you know, lesbians or whatever. But and you go out for lunch or you go out for dinner and Chelsea knows that we're together. But I also feel so awkward. Like the other night we went out in a group and Chelsea was not with us. But I was with Vicky Valentine and, you know, sitting next to her talking. And it was wild because the restaurant we were at, people all knew me and they know Chelsea. And it's funny. The women will look like, why are you? And they all have to say, so where's Chelsea?

00:38:16 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 2:

Right in front of you.

00:38:17 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. So here's Anna's thing. Anna's thing is that she needs a good wingman or wingwoman to be with. Maybe you need to stop going out with your GBFF. I know. That's what I'm saying.

00:38:36 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 2:

No, he's your friend. He's fine.

00:38:38 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 4:

I know you feel so comfortable with him and you go out a lot and you guys have fun. But if that's deterring. I think it is. If he's C-blocking you from any guys.

00:38:47 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 1:

He tells me, he argues that when I go out with my other girlfriends, like, that never stops them. We get drinks bought for us all the time. And I'm like, well, I don't know what's wrong with me because it doesn't happen when we're out.

00:38:59 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 2:

Would you ever send him over to a guy that you thought was cute? Heck no. To say, like, hey, my friend, no. Really?

00:39:06 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 1:

This man should not be talking to any guy that I want to be talking to.

00:39:10 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 3:

Would you send a gay guy to the straight guy?

00:39:12 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 2:

Well, just to say, like, I'm not actually with her. She's my friend.

00:39:17 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 1:

I'd probably, I would tell him, like, I need you to go find a guy so you can look like you're booed up with someone and then I get booed up with someone.

00:39:27 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm sure there's got to be some guys that are out that he might see and they have straight friends.

00:39:34 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:39:35 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 4:

Like, you know, you can pick up, you know, friends that way.

00:39:37 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

For sure.

00:39:39 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 4:

A couple of texters coming through right now. 586 says, some gay guys don't come off as gay.

00:39:46 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

Exactly.

00:39:47 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, really?

00:39:48 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I have two gay best friends, Windrick and Joelle. Windrick, you can tell he's gay. Joelle, sometimes you can't.

00:39:55 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 4:

I mean, as soon as you said Windrick, I was like, Windrick. I think Windrick's either that or...

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 1:

he was a 5.0 student.

00:40:02 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 6:

That too. Yeah.

00:40:03 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

The math lead. Another texter here, 248. By the way, I want to hear your voice. So instead of texting, call or actually text call me to 95500 and Lydia will get you.

00:40:15 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 7:

That first texter was right, though, about how you can't always tell people gay. I got a gay homie and he told me a few of the people I know are gay. Is he a gay? Do you have no idea? Really? I was like, who? Wait, what? He was like, yeah. And then he said somebody else. He was like, yeah.

00:40:29 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 6:

Like, openly or on the DL?

00:40:31 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 7:

DL. Like, they got girlfriends and, like, wild stuff.

00:40:35 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 6:

I know some of those.

00:40:36 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 1:

This texter is actually a good one. This texter says, Anna, do you ever go to gay bars with your gay GBFF? That's an interesting one. Why?

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 6:

No one's there for me.

00:40:48 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I've been to gay bars. I know it sounds weird to say that. I was hanging out with a Windrick one night. Chelsea and I have gone with some of our friends, And I remember going to these gay bars. There was a lot of straight guys and straight women that would go. Yeah, because they were fun. Like, there was a place that was in Hamtramck. It was a gay bar in Hamtramck. And I don't know if it's still there because I think Hamtramck is a little different now.

00:41:11 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:41:11 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 1:

But I remember going there and going in. And it was, honestly, at that time, Clutch Cargo's was around. And Clutch Cargo's was, like, the place. And I remember saying to Chelsea, we should be here. Let me find out. And not Clutch Cargo's.

00:41:24 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 7:

Clutch Cargo's was a gay bar?

00:41:26 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 1:

No. That would be a great name for a gay bar.

00:41:29 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 7:

Clutch Cargo's was just popular at the same time.

00:41:30 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Clutch Cargo's was like the hot bar at the time. What's going on, Nathan? How you doing?

00:41:36 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. How are you doing? Good morning.

00:41:38 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 1:

Doing good. We're trying to get Anna a man.

00:41:42 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, as a single man myself, if she was out to the bar with her male friend, gay or not, But out of respect, I wouldn't approach because I wouldn't know if they were together or not. She needs to wingman her friend up and turn him into a good wingman.

00:42:03 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 6:

If he was wearing a pink floral shirt, would you know that we weren't together?

00:42:08 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 2:

He could be fashionable.

00:42:10 - 00:42:10 | Unknown:

Yeah, he can too.

00:42:11 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 6:

All right. It's hard to tell nowadays. Yeah. So it's a lose-lose. Wear what you want, Joelle. I guess it doesn't matter.

00:42:19 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, I feel bad for Joelle. We're telling Joelle that he can't wear certain things. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hello.

00:42:30 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:42:31 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Who's this?

00:42:33 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 4:

This is Mackenzie.

00:42:34 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 1:

Mackenzie. Are you a first time long time?

00:42:37 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 4:

I am. How did you sniff that out? Mackenzie on the phone. She's excited.

00:42:43 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 1:

She's not saved in our phone screening system here. Hi, Mackenzie.

00:42:47 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Okay, so I will say that it does not help how flamboyant the gay best friend is. I was at a gay bar making bets on who won RuPaul's Drag Race with my gay best friend at a gay bar. And my now fiancé, she did not come up to me because she thought I was on a date.

00:43:14 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow, okay.

00:43:15 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 6:

How did you all finally start talking?

00:43:19 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 3:

We actually started talking before this, and I texted her because she was out on a girl's night, and I didn't want to interrupt. And she's like, oh, my gosh, I was going to go up to you, but I thought you were on a date. I go, no. And the kicker was I was wearing a I Heart Milk shirt.

00:43:39 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 1:

So she should have known. Yeah. There you go. I'm with Maybe you should get him a shirt

00:43:47 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 7:

Or just like a rainbow Something Some sort of accessory

00:43:52 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 1:

What's up Saira What's going on Or Shaira

00:43:56 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi You got it right the first time

00:43:59 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi Saira

00:44:00 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 5:

First time long time So I went to prom With one of my gay friends And my dad didn't know he was gay Everybody else did but he didn't and he proceeded to give him the talk. Oh, God. That's hilarious. And my mom kept trying to stop him, and he wouldn't stop, so my friend just sat there for a solid 10 minutes just getting this talk from my dad. And then finally my mom was like, he doesn't swing that way. And then he goes, why didn't you tell me?

00:44:36 - 00:44:38 | Speaker 1:

Dad was probably very, very happy, wasn't he?

00:44:38 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 5:

He was like, sir, we don't have to do this.

00:44:40 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 1:

He was like, this girl's going to be good.

00:44:43 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 5:

He's like, why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you say anything?

00:44:47 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Where are you right now where it sounds like it is a craziness there?

00:44:52 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm dropping off my kids. I have four boys.

00:44:55 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 1:

Is that a daycare or a babysitter? God bless you. That's wow.

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Daycare. I have four boys.

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 4:

five-year-old, two-year-old, three-year-old twins, and a two-year-old.

00:45:02 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my goodness.

00:45:04 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:45:05 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 3:

You are busy.

00:45:05 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, have a good day, Mom. Take care of yourself.

00:45:08 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 3:

You have a better one. Thank you.

00:45:09 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. What's going on, Ron? How you doing?

00:45:13 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Mojo. Hey. What's happening, buddy? What's the word? No, I was about to say, I got the opposite of Anna's problem. I got this one gay homeboy, his name, Alvin. Anytime he invites me out, I'm going for show. What he do is hang out with a bunch of baddies that's straight. Really? A bunch of bad chicks that's straight. Yeah. And I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm about to go to the bar with you, bro. They'd be like, oh, you don't care that everyone's gay and all that stuff. I'm like, no, that's the homies. I'm straight, though.

00:45:41 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 3:

That's a great strategy.

00:45:43 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

That's what you need, by the way. You need to have your gay BFF have baddies.

00:45:49 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but he doesn't have straight guy friends. He only has a girlfriend.

00:45:51 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:45:52 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Anna, you need to have your homeboy wear like a see-through shirt and like a dog collar, like Stan Smith.

00:46:01 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 2:

That's the greatest. Ah, the smell of chemicals and smoke. Pure Michigan, baby. This is Mojo in the Morning. Yeah, still. Wow. Not as pungent as yesterday, but still just as equally dangerous. So be careful out there. It's Mojo in the morning. Shannon had some of Lucy's friends over, right? They were all hanging out at the house?

00:46:28 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 3:

I think I had 10 or 11 7th grade girls hanging out at my house last night.

00:46:35 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 2:

Whoa, man.

00:46:36 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 3:

It was so fun, though. I love all these girls. They're such good girls. They really are. But a couple of things I noticed during this, you don't really call it a play date anymore, during this hangout. One, as mom, and I was the only one home. It was me and Smith. West is out of town. And I'm like, do I always wonder this? Do I hover wherever they are hanging out? Or do I leave the room and give them some space and privacy? I always feel like there needs to be like a happy medium on that. And also yesterday, so I did choose at one point, I'm like, okay, I'm going to go out on the front porch, even with all of this crazy smoke, and sit with the dogs and just kind of like enjoy the day and catch up on emails and Instagram and stuff like that. So I poured myself a glass of wine and went inside on the porch. And as I sat there, I'm like, is it wrong that I'm drinking? Truly, I only had one glass of wine, even though I wanted about 10. But I'm like, is it wrong that I'm drinking while 10 little girls are in my home and in my care? And I'm like, ooh, that did not stop me. I finished my glass of wine. But still, I had that thought. And I'm like, I feel like every other mom that has a daughter here would be doing the same thing.

00:47:44 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 2:

It's funny. Those are all good questions. i've gotten yelled at for being around the kids too much like when the kid like like uh if they invite if it usually was joe joe invited friends over i wanted to hang with the friends well

00:47:56 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 3:

because you want to see the dynamic and kind of figure out like i kind of know what's going on lucy's pretty open with me about you know the the tea as she says but at the same time she kept looking at me and i was like okay but i don't want to leave him alone you know like i kind of want to supervise what's happening especially they all have phones and stuff you just want to make sure everything's good but what's the happy medium I don't know I'm always so self-conscious

00:48:22 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 2:

and the drinking uh part too is I always felt like what happens if somebody hurts themselves we got to call 9-1-1 and they show up and you got a glass of wine in my hand yeah or smelling like it you know what I mean yeah um wait till Lucy and I know you don't even want to think about this but wait till lucy has the times where she has the boyfriend come over and this because this happens with luke so luke had his girlfriend like a i don't know i don't even know how to call it but it's a girl that he's dating yeah awesome girl we love her um and they're over and they're hanging in the basement and i'm home by myself and all i want to do is just make sure everything is good yeah so i have to do the hey how's it going you know you see if there's an answer real quick and it's like hey dad we're watching a movie you know one of those yeah the tv muted just so you could try to hear something right exactly but wait till that that becomes one of those things but i i used to send luke when the boy the other boys had friends over to go check out what was going on you always had the little that's what you need with like smith well smith hangs out with

00:49:32 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 3:

them these girls are seriously so sweet and they let smith they love smith so they let smith hang out with them oh dude he's gonna be so lucky later so i didn't even have smith to be my little like

00:49:42 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 2:

reporter smith's gonna marry an older woman because of this it's gonna be one of lucy's friends later in life um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number i love how you'd say we don't call it a you can't call it a plate anymore they're when middle school so when they're middle school what is it called now hang out i don't i don't know what they call it yeah yeah no if you say play date it does sound like they're in you know kindergarten place game you should actually call it a play date to lucy and her friends and see

00:50:14 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 1:

what their reaction is tell me what's up heather shannon why is it so stressful being a parent nowadays one glass of wine isn't gonna harm anything sitting on the porch relaxing that's fine the girls aren't gonna do anything wrong just pop in every now and then see if anybody

00:50:31 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 3:

needs anything go back on your way i am with you but i still i feel like i overthink everything

00:50:38 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 1:

especially with her right now you know i get it i'm an overthinker like no one's business but it's okay did um that glass of wine won't hurt anything here's not shots of tequila here's a

00:50:50 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 2:

question heather and for shannon for shannon too so when the kids are all over when all these girls are all over and you have to wake up at 3 a.m for your radio show like shannon had to do like at what point do you go all right i'm just gonna go to bed and let like do you do that or no you

00:51:08 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 3:

have to stay up actually um and some of the other moms commended me for how i did this i texted all of the girls moms and said hey we would love to have everybody over from five to eight so i put like the moms came at eight o'clock and a dad there was a dad the parents came at eight to pick everybody up i think they all know what i do and that i have to wake up super early but one of the moms was like um brilliant idea putting a stop time on this this little hang because a lot of a lot of times it does go late and i just yeah i can't do that and i want lou

00:51:40 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 2:

to have her friends over so here's another question and this i caught this one heather so the one dad comes when i would be a dad and i would go to pick up my kids and there were like the mom was the only one there i would walk into the house and talk and i felt awkward like did

00:51:57 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 3:

the parents come in or do they wait outside so yesterday um we were all hanging even the girls we were all hanging out on the front porch okay so the moms that came and the dad came they all

00:52:06 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 2:

ended up hanging out for a little bit outside like i would always i would always like go up there and i'd be like oh my god this is like me with a bunch of you know usually moms because it

00:52:16 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

would be the yeah but yeah um and wes is friends with this dad so oh okay all right yeah it's all

00:52:23 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 2:

good and he's out of town right now so that would be not good i think we had a war of the roses one time about that heather yeah i'm just kidding yeah take care of yourself appreciate it uh people say they call it slumber parties but it's not you know nobody spent the night yeah i used to call at a kickback. Somebody said they'd call it and had food. Why is it why is Josiah not hanging out with Lucy and her friends?

00:52:49 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 3:

He don't know them like that. They don't sound like any guys over there.

00:52:52 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 2:

You need to introduce that though. Wouldn't you want to be?

00:52:56 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

You want to set up a play date? Is this an arranged marriage?

00:53:02 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to set up a kickback. I'll bring a goat over. Smith's all by himself with all these girls.

00:53:06 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me?

00:53:08 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 2:

I know. I would love it, too. For sure. I loved when, so I was the youngest in the family, and obviously Aunt Pat, Aunt Tracy, and Aunt Mary Jo, they were all the older ones. I loved when their older girls came over. I was like, oh, this is great. That's when I knew, that was when I knew I was like, I like girls, is when all the older girls would come over.

00:53:31 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 3:

And they're all just beautiful. They're all gorgeous.

00:53:34 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 2:

It's just. Until you find out they're your cousin. Martina, what's up? It's a slumber party. Well, nobody slept over. No, yeah, it's a slumber party at night, Martina. You got to sleep over if it's a slumber party. Yeah, this was 5 till 8. This is a happy hour. Maybe a happy hour. Yeah, I liked it. We call it a happy hour.

00:53:55 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 1:

There you go. Did you feed them, by the way?

00:53:57 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 2:

Did you get a big old Jets pizza or anything? Me did.

00:53:59 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 3:

We got Jets.

00:54:00 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's the best.

00:54:01 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 3:

That's what Luce wanted.

00:54:02 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That was where I got to hang with everybody. because they would come get the pizza. Yeah. And then when they were getting the pizza, I'd go, so how's your parents doing? You know what I mean?

00:54:12 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 3:

Who does everybody have a crush on? And Lucy's like looking at me. I'm like, what?

00:54:16 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 2:

Do the girls answer you?

00:54:18 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You're the cool mom. Yeah, they all answer.

00:54:21 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 2:

Do some of those kids listen at all? Do they know what you do for a living?

00:54:25 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:54:26 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:54:27 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 3:

I mean, some of them do. I know some of them do, but I don't know if all of them do.

00:54:31 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 2:

See, I loved when the kids would come over. this always would embarrass the hell out of the kids but they would come over and they would be like asking questions about the show and stuff and then here's the weirdest part Joe had friends that would want to hang with me more than hang out with him and stuff like that because they would be like hey Mr. Mr. Carball what's going on and then sit on the couch I'd be watching a Tigers game on the couch next thing I know Joe would be like downstairs by himself

00:54:57 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 3:

doing an interview with you I don't know.

00:55:00 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 8:

All my friends are, you know, hanging out with Dad. Tasha, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:55:07 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

00:55:08 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 8:

Good, Tasha. What's up?

00:55:10 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 5:

I was calling my daughter. Every time her friends come over, she's 13 and my son is five. He always says that her friend is his girlfriend.

00:55:17 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 8:

Oh, boy.

00:55:18 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 5:

She gets so annoyed by it.

00:55:20 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 8:

And how does the girl, how does the friend think about this? Is the friend okay?

00:55:23 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 5:

The guys actually like them. You know, they tend to them. You know, they'll include them, play with them. But my daughter gets so annoyed by it. She wants him out of there.

00:55:30 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 8:

Please be careful when your daughter is 16 and your son is what? How old would he be then at that time?

00:55:37 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they're eight years apart. Oh, boy. So he'd be eight.

00:55:40 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah, that'd be two. Maybe 20 and, you know, then it's...

00:55:44 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there becomes that age where it's interesting.

00:55:47 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 8:

Who'd you lose your virginity to? I lost my virginity to my sister's friend. I'm telling you. That's not a bad story. That happens. Watch out. All right, we'll be right back.

00:55:59 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 10:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:30 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 8:

All right, Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. Hi, Shannon.

00:58:33 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Yesterday morning, a crazy situation over at the Today Show. This guy got past security somehow, some way at NBC's Rockefeller Plaza Studios and lunged at Today Show co-host Craig Melvin while shouting a bunch of racist slurs at him.

00:58:50 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 6:

There was a major security breach at the Today Show today when a man showed up, was looking for Al Roker, went backstage, which is a huge security breach, and couldn't find Al, but saw Craig Melvin, the anchor of the Today Show, and lunged at him and used the N-word. And there are some sources at the Today Show are saying this guy made it all the way to the dressing rooms. There's a dispute about that, whether it was in the hallway or the dressing rooms. Either way, he was backstage. Nobody was hurt. The man was arrested. NYPD has him in custody. The way it was put to us by people at the Today Show, they are saying, and this is a quote, Heads are going to roll because this security breach put the talent on the show at risk.

00:59:46 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 8:

That's Harvey from TMZ?

00:59:47 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the show, the Today Show later issued a statement saying they're cooperating fully with law enforcement as they investigate this. And they said, we're also reviewing our safety protocols.

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 8:

So I saw a video of the guy. Yeah.

01:00:00 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 3:

guy getting arrested and it was actually him looking for tmz like he said uh in the video are you tmz are you tmz and he wanted he was like shot it was almost kind of like he was looking for

01:00:14 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 4:

the fame or something viral he wanted to be viral for what he was doing the guy looked like old like

01:00:19 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 3:

it was weird like you know when you when you think of this you don't know you know what the person is but my makeup instantly when i heard that there was a this breach of security was you know who knows what this person looks like this guy looked like he was probably in his 50s or late 50s so um and uh got handcuffed got arrested so yeah crazy yeah benny blanco revealing the very simple

01:00:42 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 4:

texting rule that he and selena gomez have uh he said if for example she's away and has to go to a dinner and then a party and then this thing and that thing like if she's got a full evening of events it is a simple text in between each event that says hey babe i'm going to this next thing i'm thinking about you just kind of yeah just kind of keeping each other updated throughout the night it doesn't need to be a lot um but he said you know it it works especially if he winds up somewhere and has to stay late it's just a simple phone take out the phone send a quick text

01:01:18 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 3:

in between and then you're done take notes men benny blanco helping us out thank you ben

01:01:25 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 4:

christopher nolan's the odyssey is the movie that everybody is going to see this weekend it is already getting insanely amazing reviews in fact it has earned the highest critical scores of chris nolan's career it scored 96 on 96 on rotten tomatoes even better than oppenheimer and the dark night and i mean the critics are just going crazy for this thing the film adapts homer's ancient greek epic stars matt damon anne hathaway tom holland zendaya and robert pattinson i was uh

01:01:57 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 3:

looking at kfc from barstool put his post he went and saw it last night he said aside from the first two minutes he said it was an amazing movie he said the first two minutes were the most boring two minutes which is interesting to hear that like you started off the movie and i think they It started off with a little bit of a lull, but he said that it was action-packed the whole time. He said it was the most beautiful movie.

01:02:18 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Almost three hours. It was shot in IMAX. You're supposed to see it in IMAX.

01:02:22 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the only part that sucks. Like, I'm Googling now to see it truly how it was intended to be seen, how it was shot. There's only one IMAX 70mm theater in Michigan, and it's in Grand Rapids. So for our SNX listeners, you can see it as the director intended it to be seen. What about that Super EMAX that they have? Yeah, there's about a 20-feet height difference between the IMAX 70mm and the Super EMAX. Would you drive two hours to go see it? No, it ain't that deep. I'm going to spend two hours in the theater. I'm going to spend three hours. It's going to be incredible. Oh, yeah.

01:02:59 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And lastly, here in Michigan, there's a big Democratic primary race for Senate, and one of the candidates, his name is Abdul El-Sayed, is using this diarrhea parasite as part of his platform.

01:03:14 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 1:

We doged the part of government that was supposed to protect us from explosive diarrhea. So, you know, I don't know what Donald Trump believes about explosive diarrhea. I think Mike Rogers seems to be supportive of the system of government that gives us explosive diarrhea or at least doesn't protect us from it. So I just, I am on the anti-explosive diarrhea side of things. And, you know, the folks who wanted to gut our public health infrastructure seem to be on the pro-explosive diarrhea side of things. So I would love to hear what Mike Rogers thinks about explosive diarrhea. Wow. I like it.

01:03:41 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 4:

He's going up against Haley Stevens. I'm Abdul Al-Sayed and I approve that message.

01:03:45 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 3:

He's going against Haley Stevens. Yeah. Running against Haley Stevens. That is it.

01:03:49 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 4:

I just got a good laugh from that. Charlie Langton, by the way, audio courtesy of our friend, Charlie Langton.

01:03:54 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 3:

They talk about, they talk about, what is it called? The kitchen table topics. That's a kitchen table topic. I mean, it really is. Explosive diarrhea. Yeah.

01:04:03 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 4:

All right.

01:04:03 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:04:03 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 4:

Miss anything from today. Go back, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app.

01:04:07 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Your call may be monitored or recorded. All right, giving you a chance to win right now. Ashton is on with us right now. Hi, Ashton. Are you there? Hey, Mojo. How's it going? Good, buddy. How you doing, man? I'm good. I'm good. Just driving to work this morning. I love it. Where do you work, Ashton? Out of heating and cooling. Oh, okay. All right. Busy days here with all this heat that we have here, right? Absolutely, yeah. Ashton, I wanted to tell you you're a winner. Congratulations to you. Yes!

01:04:52 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited.

01:04:54 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 3:

A brand-new car, $28,000 car, or if you've got a bunch of bills that you're going to need help with, you can win. $20,000. You can take the cash buyout. Ashton, it says here that you need a new roof. You got a leaky roof?

01:05:10 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, got me and my wife bought a house a couple months ago here. It's a historical home in Milford, so it's an older home. I love Milford.

01:05:21 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 3:

Milford is amazing, man. You sound young. How old are you?

01:05:27 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 4:

22. I just turned 22 three days ago. Buddy.

01:05:30 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, happy you belated birthday. I love it.

01:05:32 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome, man. You and your beautiful wife hopefully have a new roof coming your way if you win this car. We'll see you at Gordon Chevrolet. Gordon Chevrolet, which is on Ford Road just west of Merriman in Garden City. And you can be there winning that and then taking the cash buyout to be able to afford that roof. So we'll see you there. Bring the wife with you, okay?

01:05:55 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 4:

I will. Thank you.

01:05:56 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 3:

All right. Hold on one second, buddy. I appreciate you listening. It's Mojo in the morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. The text is 95500. Can adult man pays his taxes, father of three, husband for a long time? Can he be grounded? Like, can a adult...

01:06:19 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 1:

What'd you do?

01:06:21 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 3:

I yesterday didn't do anything. Literally didn't do anything. So yesterday I was told by my wife, and this is where, you know, I wish I was a little cooler. Like, I wish I was one of those guys that called her my old lady. Like, I've always wanted to be one of those guys that could say, yeah, it's my old lady over there, you know? But I'm not that. Chelsea would not let me leave the house yesterday. So Chelsea kept saying to me, you're not going outside of the house. And I would say to her, why can't I not go out? Like, I had stuff I wanted to do, errands I wanted to run. And she's like, it is dangerous, smoky outside. We're at a level 589 or whatever the hell the thing was. And so she was giving me grief about the fact that she had to stay in the house. First, I had to stay in the house. I had to put an air purifier in the room.

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 1:

Smart.

01:07:15 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 3:

So we had an air purifier, and she told me, and it was kind of funny because I didn't necessarily, I thought to myself, like, God, I feel like a teenager, like when the boys would get grounded and they had to stay in their room. That's what I felt like. And then I realized, you know what this was? This wasn't her grounding me. This was kind of Chelsea in some way, shape, or form putting me on house arrest. Like, I felt like.

01:07:38 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

That's a good wife. This is also called Chelsea loving you because she knows you have a heart issue and a few other things going on, and you probably shouldn't have been outside. Anyway.

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 3:

I know my...

01:07:48 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 5:

A bum by your head, a bad knee. Dick.

01:07:51 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 3:

All the things.

01:07:52 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 1:

You know? Dick.

01:07:54 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 3:

No, I think that... Here's the thing. Has there any been... And I'll throw this out there. Lydia, we probably won't even get any calls on this topic, so don't feel bad. We'll do like a podcast or something. But the reason why I say we probably won't get any calls, I don't believe that there's any person that does this to their spouse other than Chelsea does. Like the fact that she's like, you can't go out. I don't want you to do this thing. I'm like, Chelsea, I'm 56 years old. I'm old, man. I'm literally old.

01:08:26 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 5:

Exactly why you shouldn't go outside. I'm with Chelsea.

01:08:28 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 3:

But I'm not old enough where I'm going to die. You know what I mean? What's that?

01:08:31 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 5:

I just read a stat that if you spent the majority of the day outside yesterday, it was like smoking 10 cigarettes.

01:08:38 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

What? I was outside all day.

01:08:40 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 5:

You smoked a pack.

01:08:41 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 3:

How much are in a pack?

01:08:42 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 5:

Smack a wild fight. How many cigs are in a pack? I don't know. 10, 12, 20? I don't know. I'm not a smoker, but 10 seems like a lot of cigarettes.

01:08:52 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Where do you get the cigarettes? About 20 in a standard pack. So it's a half a pack of smokes.

01:08:58 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 3:

um but i here's the thing i know that it's bad listen it smelled bad i didn't want to be outside smelling but i at least wanted to go and run errands i wanted to you know we get done with the show for those that don't know this we get done with the show we can get out of the studio either at one o'clock two o'clock sometimes three o'clock for me early in the week but usually my midweek and end of the week i can get out of here if i wanted to by 11 30 at the latest yeah do you

01:09:27 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 2:

know how much fun happens at 11 30 in the morning just open but it's only it's only two days you know what i mean and i'm like anna said i'm with like shannon i feel the same way i'm we all with chelsea on this it's not that you were arrested relegated and confined to your abode it was let me look out for my men stay your ass at home let the dust settle and clear out and let's be real

01:09:54 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

by the way, you love when things get canceled and you can just hang out. So now you're whining and complaining about it, and this is like your dream day.

01:10:05 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to be told that I can't do anything. I want to be, you know what I mean? I want to do it on my own. And I was going to go see you at Olga's, so I was going to go over to Olga's. I was going to go to Olga's. You say it like they do in the old country. I was going to go to Olga's, and then I was going to go to Somerset, and I was going to go to the Apple store because I want to get a screen protector for my phone. Get on Amazon. No, they put it on for you. They do it in a machine. It's fantastic. I'll put it on for you if you order it. Yeah. Yeah, the Belkin. Get your red coat, grab your remote, and watch some TV. Hey, Sean, I was grounded yesterday. What's going on?

01:10:41 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes, sir. Good morning, guys. Long-time listener. Hey. First-time caller?

01:10:46 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 2:

Are you a first-time caller?

01:10:47 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Oh, no, no. Many-time caller. Welcome back, Sean.

01:10:50 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Sean?

01:10:52 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my wife does the same thing. It's too smoky out. You've had three heart attacks. You need to keep your foot at home.

01:10:57 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 1:

She might be right. I mean, oh, darn, she loves you so much and wants you to live.

01:11:04 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I still have to work to pay the bills. How old are you, Sean, that you've had three heart attacks? 55. Oh, man, oh, my God, that's a young guy. How old were you when you had your first heart attack?

01:11:22 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 3:

49, and then I had one at 51, which almost killed me, and then... It's about four months ago.

01:11:33 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 2:

You take care. Be careful, buddy. Seriously. Oh, absolutely. You too, guys. Take care, man. My dog lost three heart attacks. Like, I want to go outside. No, stay where I say home. What's up, Jody? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning. Get a smoothie.

01:11:48 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. First time, long time. Hey, Jody. How's it going? Yes. Hey, hey. So my husband owns a construction company, and he leaves, well, especially this past couple weeks, he leaves at 5 a.m. And I woke up yesterday morning at 6, turned on the news, drinking my coffee, and noticed that, what, the air quality was like 800. I called him, and I said, honey, did you notice outside? And he goes, yeah, it's really smoky. And I go, yeah, and the air quality is going to kill you and all these guys. You guys need to call the day. And he was home by 7 a.m.

01:12:25 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man.

01:12:26 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 5:

He listens to his lady. He's a good boy, that's for sure. You're a good boy.

01:12:33 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 2:

You're a good boy. What did he do all day? What did you guys do all day?

01:12:39 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, you know, we own our own business, so there's never any way to stop. So, yeah, he just did some paperwork, some invoices and all that fun stuff. So he was productive.

01:12:49 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 5:

That's for sure.

01:12:50 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 2:

You tell the good boy, be careful, okay? you too stay inside thank you i appreciate it uh hold on joe what's up joe hey how's it going

01:13:02 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 4:

it's first time hey joe good morning no i was responding to uh you know your comment on that uh no the wife called me after i got to work um i work kind of more or less than a automotive industry so garage whatnot uh doors are open she called me making sure i had my mask and everything on and made sure that, uh, I wasn't going after work to go get her groceries, but made sure I had to get home and, uh, make sure the dinner was on the stove.

01:13:33 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 2:

There is something nice to know that they love you and they don't want just collect your life insurance policy, but there is a bit, there is a bit of it where I'm a grown ass man. I can make decisions on my own. You know what I mean?

01:13:47 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Which is funny about that because we looked in the life insurance policies yesterday for the first time. It's kind of weird.

01:13:52 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What is that one commercial? I always see that one commercial on TV with the guy with the beard. It's always like, you can get a life insurance policy for anyone. Or, hey, honey, I just bought a life insurance policy. And she goes, we don't even have money to feed the family. What are you talking about? Have you seen that commercial? I don't know. It's so funny, though. She's like, we don't even have money. And he's like, well, that's what I'm looking for. I want to make sure.

01:14:21 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 1:

i love that he's actually watching commercials too he knows them verbatim

01:14:27 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 2:

what's up deborah how you doing i'm good how are you guys doing good doing okay i'm a little

01:14:35 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 1:

bored i was home all day yesterday well hey guys i want to let you know i was at saint joe's in ann arbor yesterday and people were coming in and they actually had ashes on them and i am not this is no joke wow um so please stay home um because it was really scary and people are coming in with masks on and using their inhalers so in my as you can tell my voice is killing me. So, please. Yeah. Tell your wife to kill a great deal.

01:15:06 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Did you guys actually see

01:15:08 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 2:

any photos or videos of the fires burning in Ontario? It's really sad. I mean, it's sad. Why do they not have big

01:15:16 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 3:

old planes with water dumping on these things? I mean, I don't know if they do or don't. I mean, Canada's got enough water, they can grab water out of their you know, lakes and stuff. You can't fight God,

01:15:28 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 2:

bro you know what yesterday reminded me of because i was i was out at olga's and they had us like outside in a tent so i was just like kind of surveying the parking lot of it was in like a really busy plaza in troy like uh you know rochester road in big beaver if you live around there there's like a ton of stuff it reminded me of the start of covid it was just this eerie unsettling quiet around like i feel like and people were we're coming up wearing masks we It was just so weird. Mass?

01:15:55 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, from our promo team. Oh, I think so. I think so. Here's the craziest thing is, though, with COVID, we were, like, telling everybody, no, you can't go out. Yesterday, it was like we really didn't – I feel like there was no warnings and stuff. I don't get why they haven't said anything.

01:16:09 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 2:

You didn't get that warning on your phone?

01:16:10 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 3:

I got the warning on the phone, but it meant nothing because they don't even know what's going on. Like, they don't even realize how bad the error is.

01:16:16 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 4:

You need a protocol.

01:16:17 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes, they do.

01:16:18 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 4:

The warning says stay inside. Close your door.

01:16:21 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 3:

But they were still opening businesses and still had, you know.

01:16:25 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you mean like shutting things down.

01:16:27 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't want. But I'm saying it's like, why was it Thursday or was it yesterday was Thursday? Yesterday was Thursday. Why was it Wednesday afternoon? Guys, this is going to be bad tomorrow. Just be aware of the next two days.

01:16:39 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if they knew the extent. I don't know if, like, how do you tell? Yeah. Like, you can measure snowfall. I don't know if you can measure smoke.

01:16:45 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 1:

But we either have, like, winter weather advisories. Yeah. We had no advisory. Yeah.

01:16:50 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 3:

School's closed today.

01:16:51 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 1:

about smoking heather what did your husband do well he went golfing this morning with his friend and i've been telling him since yesterday do not go it's terrible outside i actually work with the gentleman that he went golfing with so i was telling him yesterday you guys should not go you should not be you should not be out there well my friend who i work with told me yesterday that he used to smoke for 20 years so he's prepared for this oh my gosh this is just a normal day

01:17:19 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, I hope you bought the life insurance that you can't afford.

01:17:25 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 1:

I do have it, but I'm like, seriously, I don't want to hear you complain and cough tonight. I don't want to hear it.

01:17:33 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to golf in this because you can't even see your ball. Like, that's how far, you know, and I don't hit the ball very far, but it's like, I wouldn't know where my ball landed just from how smoggy it is out there. But, all right. Damn. Most of the time, the cloud of smoke is in my car, but now this outside smoke is nasty. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. Kevin is not a cuddler.

01:18:02 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that seems to be an issue right now for my current relationship thing. Oh, really? The relationship? The lady wants to cuddle? I put that thing on it at the end. Thing. Disclaimer. Yeah, yeah. So, I mean, when you get in the bed with somebody and it's time to go to sleep at night, she's like a, you know, she wants to roll over, put her hand on my chest and like lay her head on my shoulder and the leg is on the leg. And it's like, you don't like that. I want to go to sleep. Like if we are watching a movie or watching television and the goal isn't to close our eyes and go to bed. Sure. Lay on me. Let's enjoy ourselves. When it's time to go to bed, though, I need you off. and I need you on the other side because I am trying to go to sleep and it's uncomfortable to have like body weight on you or to have to like have my arm in a certain fixed position. Like, I don't like that at all.

01:18:59 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 2:

Have you said this to her?

01:19:00 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. How was that received? The very first night, it was kind of like a, like a, like, you don't want to, you don't want to lay together. I'm like, I want to go to sleep. Like, we can do all of this stuff before I go to sleep. When it's time to go to sleep, Alexa, turn the lights on. Put my rain sounds on, and I need you on that side of the bed.

01:19:18 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's amazing, man, because I think I like cuddling, because I figured cuddling would lead to more.

01:19:25 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 4:

But this is literally, we're going to sleep. This is after all the time.

01:19:29 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't ever want to sleep. I got a lady in my bed I want to be up and about. It's time to go to bed. It's so funny.

01:19:35 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Wes gets offended if I don't. He'll do this thing, and that means, like, put your head on my chest. He loves that. and sometimes i just want to like i love sleeping on my side um so like i'll cuddle for a little bit when it's actually sleep time i really do i always roll over to my left side not to be offensive that's just how i sleep better yeah you know does he get upset though that you roll over he will usually say something about how yeah you know I

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm not in, I don't want to cuddle, but I do.

01:20:02 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 2:

I just don't sleep best that way.

01:20:04 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 4:

Why is it that relationships are so opposite in a lot of things? It's like, why is it that cuddlers don't get together? We're non-cuddlers. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I always feel like there's one that wants to cuddle and the other that doesn't want to cuddle.

01:20:16 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 3:

She likes to be under the sheets and under the comforter. I'm like, I don't want to do all of that. It's hot under there. So you lay on top? Yeah. How do you do that?

01:20:26 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 2:

I can't sleep that way.

01:20:27 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 3:

No blanket.

01:20:28 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 4:

What's the temperature in the room?

01:20:30 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. My thermostat is like downstairs. So it's, I mean, the air is on, but I feel like I'm warmer, but she's under the covers. I'm not trying to be under covers, hugged up.

01:20:41 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 4:

Are you sleeping clothed or unclothed?

01:20:45 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 3:

I probably got drawers on.

01:20:46 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Okay. What about her? She naked?

01:20:48 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 3:

She got a top and bottom on. She naked? Depends.

01:20:52 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 4:

Texter here says, Kevin and most guys are not cuddlers. That's interesting that people just think that guys are not the cuddlers. Because Chelsea's not a cuddler.

01:21:02 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 3:

Not at all?

01:21:03 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea doesn't want, like, she's like, as soon as we get done, she's like, okay. And now it's like restraining order, you know?

01:21:09 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 1:

I do love cuddling watching TV, though. Do you? Yeah.

01:21:13 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 4:

See, that's when I don't want to cuddle. If I'm watching TV, I want to be able to watch my TV.

01:21:18 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love that. See, no, let's lay up and watch a movie. That's a good vibe. Put your hand on her butt. Do your thing.

01:21:25 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Okay. Blanket on or no Blanket on when you're on the couch

01:21:29 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 3:

Depend on the temperature

01:21:30 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 4:

Another texter here This is 95500 Our phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE Or 95500 Texter here says Kev, have you ever been a cuddler? Maybe it's her

01:21:44 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 3:

No, the cuddling again is something I'm okay with Let's cuddle all night long Until it's time for me to go to sleep And I want you six feet away like COVID Dang

01:21:54 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 4:

Do you think you'll ever get to a point where you'll make her sleep in a separate, or whoever the girl is, sleep in a separate room because you want your bed to yourself?

01:22:03 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 3:

I still want you there. Sometimes I'll kick my foot against hers just to, you know.

01:22:07 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 4:

Make sure. Let her know I'm there. Even with those big old nails that you have on there on that foot. What's going on, Josh? How you doing?

01:22:16 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, man. So you want to hear about probably the gnarliest puddle story that you'll ever hear? Yes. Please, Josh. Okay. I'm dead serious. This is the worst. So me and my wife, once upon a time, we went to this real sketchy sushi restaurant, right? And needless to say, my stomach was hurting and whatnot. So that night we go to bed and, you know, she's like, she cuddles. I don't. So she's cuddling on me and I do the typical thing as a guy who gets hot and I'm like, you know, get off me kind of thing. and uh she she keep i keep pushing her off me and i'm just like sweating you know only i wasn't

01:22:59 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 4:

sweating oh no you got sick from the sushi oh yeah wait there's more so apparently in my sleep

01:23:12 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 2:

from the awful sushi, I had, uh, I had, uh, like liquids, which I thought I was just sweaty

01:23:25 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 4:

and she's like on me and I'm like, I'll forget it. That's why she ain't cuddling with you anymore. Oh my God. Leakage is the most disgusting word. Amanda, what's going on?

01:23:39 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 1:

hi good morning first time long time I just wanted to share that my husband and I actually don't even sleep together well he I sleep in bed he sleeps on the couch it started with him just not liking our mattress saying it's uncomfortable and then him saying it's just too hot in our room so we get our

01:24:08 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 4:

cuddle time in before bed okay and then he goes his separate way you go your separate way so you

01:24:13 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 1:

don't have to worry about cuddling all night yeah yeah no and at first it kind of upset me because I am a cuddler I like the physical touch but now I'm kind of used to having the whole bed to myself

01:24:25 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 4:

and I like it why don't you guys go get a new mattress that he likes and you like yeah we have

01:24:31 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 1:

we have this is actually the second mattress we've been to and I I told him I'm like make sure you like it because you know i want you to sleep with me and then we got it and i wonder if i hate to

01:24:42 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 4:

say this as a guy who went through therapy with a wife that didn't sleep in the same bed with me i wonder if there's something more to this thing not that he doesn't love you or anything like that but sometimes the the idea is not that he wants to be on the couch or not in the bed because he doesn't like the mattress I don't know.

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 3:

There could be something, you know, maybe he's going through. I would, I'd ask more questions about that. If he's blaming the mattress for the reason why you guys don't actually sleep together. You know? I don't know.

01:25:13 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it could be a good point, but I am, we're really good in our relationship right now, so I'm not worried about that.

01:25:21 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 4:

And y'all going to need a new couch soon. Because he's sleeping on it?

01:25:25 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's going to burn a hole in there.

01:25:27 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what if you just slept on the couch with him? Did you ever think about that?

01:25:32 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't think the couch is big enough for both of us. You don't need it.

01:25:36 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 3:

You're laying on top of him.

01:25:39 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's true, too.

01:25:41 - 01:25:41 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:25:42 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 1:

But, no, like when we go on vacation and stuff, we always sleep together. Okay. Oh, that's good.

01:25:48 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So next time y'all go on vacation, just figure out what the mattress is and then buy it out.

01:25:53 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Excuse me. Front desk, can you please tell me? I've done that before. Yeah.

01:25:59 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 4:

I put up the sheets like, what is this?

01:26:01 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Sydney?

01:26:04 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I was just going to say, well, first of all, first time, long time. Yeah, Sydney on the phone. I sleep on my back, and my boyfriend's a cuddler, and he hates it because he can't cuddle me when I'm sleeping on my back.

01:26:19 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, so why can't he be putting his arms around you?

01:26:24 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 1:

I mean, like, he can, but like you said, it's awkward.

01:26:27 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:26:28 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes I sleep like I'm in a coffin, too. Do you? I always do.

01:26:32 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 1:

How do you sleep on your back? I couldn't do it. I don't know how.

01:26:36 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes it's uncomfortable with your genitalia sometimes.

01:26:39 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 3:

If you, like, sleep on your stomach.

01:26:40 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 1:

I think sleeping on my side hurts my lower back more.

01:26:44 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. Kat was talking about his genitalia hair sickness, so I apologize. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I think there's always ways to cuddle.

01:26:54 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 2:

Why'd you call it that?

01:26:56 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 4:

I've got to be careful. I've already been dumped this week. I'm trying to be safe.

01:26:59 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 3:

Let's end this, and let's all have a cuddle alert weekend. Everybody cuddle with somebody this weekend. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

01:27:08 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 5:

UKQI Detroit, WSNX Mesquite Grand Rapids, WVPS Toledo, Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM, and iHeart Radio Station. Guaranteed human. Mojo. five four three two one ignition sequence start let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to mojo in the morning you're a doodoo head

01:27:43 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 3:

let's go uh it's mojo in the morning i want to uh have mike come on with us uh to do a quick topic here a quick little fun story uh so mike uh almost got into a fist fight

01:28:01 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 2:

uh yeah i'm not i'm not like uh the biggest fighter in the world but if i got to i got to you know by the way when i got to we got to i got to kill it but don't push me yeah exactly

01:28:12 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 3:

exactly but this one was yeah me it was wait did you were you provoking it or what happened

01:28:18 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 2:

No, I was driving through a campsite last weekend or the weekend before. And I'm driving in the sun, like I'm driving through the campsite, trying to get to our campsite. And the sun like hit my eyes immediately as I'm trying to turn. And it's one of those campsites where there's golf carts everywhere, too. And so I go to turn and I didn't see the golf cart because the sun was in my eyes. And I almost hit. And we're only going like five miles an hour, thankfully. But I almost hit this guy and his little girl in the in the in the golf cart. and he like I slam on the brakes because I got my family in the car and my kids go whoa whoa whoa and then he gets up and like comes up to the window and just starts screaming in my face like f this f that what are you doing you could have killed us and his little girl's like maybe two oh my god right in front of his kid and your kids yeah my kids are there and I went to roll down my window and I accidentally rolled down Cess's window too and like Cess is sitting there and my wife is sitting in that moment like when somebody comes and does that to you like i want to say 12 years ago mike before kids mike i probably would have said some stuff back i probably would have stepped out of the vehicle i probably got beat up but still i wouldn't have just you know what i mean i wouldn't have just sat there because he was a bigger dude too but this version of mike uh well i have i have kids like i have kids but you didn't say to him Like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry.

01:29:40 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 1:

The sun, like, I couldn't see.

01:29:42 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

I tried to. I was, like, trying to say it. I was explaining to him, like, dude, I really genuinely didn't see you, the sun. He's like, I don't care. You could have killed us. You need to watch what you're doing. Yada, yada, yada. And I look up in the rearview mirror, and all I see is Milo and Seth. And I'm like, harder faces.

01:30:00 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 3:

Uh, Cess is freaking out. Milo isn't really sure what's happening. It's Sebastian. It's just, I don't know, looking out the window.

01:30:08 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 2:

But it's, but it is one of those things where you also have your wife there, uh, right. Witnessing this whole thing.

01:30:14 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, I have to protect my family. You have to came down to it.

01:30:17 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

Like, so you either do one of two things, either you turn into a mic that I don't think I've ever seen, or you probably turned into the mic that I see all the time. The sweet mic.

01:30:28 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 3:

I was, I mean, I wasn't sweet. I put a little bass in my voice. Let's hear it. Like, what'd you say? I was like, man, I didn't, like, I, yeah, hold on, let me get into it. I didn't mean, what do you do? It was an accident, bro. I heard no bass. No bass? No.

01:30:44 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 2:

Hey, bro. Hey, bro.

01:30:46 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 3:

But, you know what I mean?

01:30:47 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 2:

Were you scared, though? Were you also scared a little bit?

01:30:50 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 3:

I was fired up. I don't think I was scared. Okay. I was, I'm more watching my, like, like, I'm not a fighter. Like, I don't go out seeking fights. if you know i try to joke around and de-escalate a situation if possible but like when your family is involved when they're right there watching there's two choices like i have to if he swings i have to like do what i can to to protect my family but at the same time i'm not seeking a fight and i'm not gonna fight in front of my kids here's i'm not gonna teach yeah right here's my

01:31:18 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 2:

question what do you do in this case if you're mike and you're you know you earn the wrong that You almost hit the guy, but the guy doesn't need to be road raging on you. And you're with your kids. Like, I'll be honest with you. I'm afraid to get beat up. Like, I'm afraid of, you know, people. Even though this guy is there with his kid, could you imagine what it would be like? Not so much just to be hurt, but to have your kids for the rest of their lives have the visual of you getting pulled out of your car. What were you in? What were you in?

01:31:50 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I actually was in the, we got a partnership with Baker Buick GMC in Hudsonville. Oh, hey. Shout out to Baker Buick. Yeah. They had me in one of those Sierra Elevations, so I'm in a big truck. Okay. That's better than. That's why he was so freaked out.

01:32:02 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 2:

That was better than back in the day when you had the Kia. You know what I mean?

01:32:05 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 4:

You just. You just can't get beat up in front of your wife. That's the only thing. You try to argue with her. What about Sebastian and Milo? But I'm saying. And Cecily. You try to argue with her, and she'd be like, you ain't do that to the man. Yeah. Where was that? Oh, my gosh.

01:32:20 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Or how about this, knowing Cecily, and Cecily, she loves her dad so much. What if Cecily ended up beating his ass and Mike had to watch his daughter, you know, punching this guy?

01:32:34 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell the story different.

01:32:36 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't think this would be a topic on the radio at that moment. Hold on a second, Rucci's on with us. What's up, Rucci? Say hi to Mike.

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 5:

How you doing today, Mike?

01:32:46 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm good, how are you? He did that. Wait, that was more bass than his voice that time.

01:32:51 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 5:

He was trying. That was actually pretty good.

01:32:53 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 3:

I pushed it out.

01:32:54 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm 32. I'll be 33 in August. And, like, seven years ago, I probably would have had the, you know, master energy, the rah-rah energy. But I watch a lot of YouTube videos and reels and stuff. And, like, people be crazy nowadays. So, like, you just never know what the other person's mentor is at or, you know, what they're going through or et cetera. Obviously, you know, you don't want to be your kids and your wife and stuff is right there, but people would be crazy, so I'd just be like diffusing the situation nowadays. I don't want to be trying to escalate them.

01:33:24 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? That's the smart thing to do because it is true that as much as you want to just beat the crap out of this guy or whatever or basically stick up for yourself, you've got to be careful because my crazy ain't as crazy as some of these people that are out there crazy.

01:33:41 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 3:

And you end up looking crazy, too. You know?

01:33:45 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 4:

See, Jay-Z got a lyric for that.

01:33:47 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 2:

And could you imagine Mike having to tell people, I beat the ass of a guy driving a golf cart? In front of his daughter? Yeah.

01:33:56 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? I don't know. None of that was good.

01:33:58 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 2:

They let the golf carts and the big old Sierras drive on the same road when you're up in the camp areas? Oh, yeah.

01:34:04 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people bring their own golf carts, and they bring side-by-sides and all sorts of stuff.

01:34:09 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. All right. Yeah. Yeah, it's funny because you would think that they would be careful because I would not see a golf cart. What's going on, Jason? How you doing?

01:34:19 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I imagine the altercation went like this, the guy going, Mike, you almost hit my kids, and Mike looking at them going, well.

01:34:34 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 2:

Jason, that's fantastic. That was a great impression.

01:34:38 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that was pretty good.

01:34:40 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 2:

Here's the other thing, too. Remember when you got into an altercation with a guy? There was another situation. It wasn't like this bad, but you kept running into him at the campground because they're smaller areas, right? Did you run into this guy, angry guy?

01:34:54 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

No. No, I didn't. I did look like I was every time I was pulling down one of the roads. I was very cautious.

01:35:00 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 4:

after that yeah but i kept looking to see if i'd see him again that the worst is when you have something like that happen and then you keep running into every single place tim what's up it's mojo in the morning uh and mike's on with us which by the way you can listen to mike on our show you know from time to time but also on b93 in grand rapids what's going on yeah so uh this

01:35:22 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 5:

was like when my kid was like eight or nine uh i got in a confrontation like i guess the guy thought I, like, bumped his car or whatever. Didn't know my kid had a slingshot in the backseat. And he goes, leave my daddy alone. And shoots a pebble right in the guy's mouth. And the guy starts to choke.

01:35:40 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:35:40 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 5:

And I'm like, what? And he's like, your kid's trying to camp. And I'm like, get in the car. Let's go, go, go. And my kid's just still shooting him. I'm just like, what are the chances? I would have took him to get ice cream. In the mouth.

01:35:55 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 7:

Right in the mouth.

01:35:57 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 5:

Tim McAllister.

01:35:58 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 4:

He's a real one, man.

01:36:01 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 5:

So it's like Heidi be upset. I'm like, never bring that toy around, but good shot.

01:36:07 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Blind Claudia, one of our misfits, wants to say something to Mike. What's going on, Claudia?

01:36:14 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning, guys. Happy Friday.

01:36:16 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 4:

Happy Friday. Say hi to Mike, Claudia.

01:36:20 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mike. I love you.

01:36:22 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 3:

I love you.

01:36:23 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

I miss you, too. um i'm surprised ali wasn't the one that got in the guy's face that is a great point

01:36:33 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 3:

because as a latina that would have been me yeah so one time she has before one time we were at a very quick story one time we were at a bar and we were both very drunk and she had big gold earrings on at the time and she was fighting or doing something i would do we were fighting or something at the bar her and i were and the woman next to us goes are you okay and i go yeah we're fine and she goes no i wasn't talking to you and she looks at my wife and goes are you okay and she goes yeah we're stuck stay out of our business and for some reason something snapped in that moment and this girl starts yelling at us and my wife starts yelling back and she's like hold my earrings and throws my earrings she was trying to fight out she's all 4 11. when i had when

01:37:18 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 2:

there was one time a bra broke out and the boyfriend I was with at the time, he was getting into it with this guy I pushed my boyfriend out the way and I got in his face and I told him, you better not even think you're going to lay a hand on my man because if you do, I'm up, you up

01:37:33 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Claudia

01:37:35 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 2:

Claudia in the plan

01:37:37 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 4:

Kind of turned down by that That was actually really good

01:37:40 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 2:

We love you, Claudia

01:37:44 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

Take care of yourself I'm going to listen to this podcast over and over again Actually, I am, because every call was fantastic. The guy with the slingshot. Oh, my God. What a great story. That was amazing. Michael, I love you, buddy. I miss you. And be careful at the campgrounds. And shout out again to what's the dealership that you do commercials for?

01:38:03 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 3:

Baker, Buick, GMC, and Hudsonville. Hey.

01:38:08 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 4:

What a cool gig. All right, we'll talk to you later, buddy.

01:38:10 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 1:

See you guys. Bye. Bye, Mike. Mike from Mojo in the Morning. You know, the only real man on this show. He can throw a football. Change a tire and light a campfire.

01:38:18 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Hey. He can light a campfire. Can you light a campfire? Yeah. I don't think I could. I could only if I have one of those long Bic lighters that, you know. Yeah, like you light your grills. Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas. Last chance for this week on our show to qualify by winning a gas card from Kroger Delivers. And actually, it's Kroger Delivery. I was changing the name of their thing. They're a big company. I don't think they're going to let this guy change the name of their thing. Kroger Delivery, not Delivers, but they do deliver. I got ADD today. Win a brand new car or win $20,000.

01:39:01 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

Good luck. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:39:05 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

I was waking up this morning. I was getting dressed. I was looking through my array of polos and golf shorts. And I said, I'm going pink today. I don't think I've ever seen you. I got pink. It looks good with my Cubano color.

01:39:21 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 6:

I like it, bro. Yes, thank you.

01:39:22 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I want to start off the dirty by giving a shout out to somebody I met yesterday at my Olga's Fresh appearance in Troy. Because this woman is legendary. Her name is Maria. And she and her family used to own and operate my favorite restaurant of all time when I was growing up on Grosseal. And if you were an islander, you remember Vitaly's. Oh, Vitaly's. Pasta, pasta. I think they were around for like 30 years, but now she works for Olga's. Oh, wow. And so I met her, and she's like, you might not remember my restaurant. I'm like, Vitaly's was my childhood.

01:39:55 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

You've talked about Vitaly's before. Many, many times. Yeah. Yeah, so it's just really cool to meet her.

01:40:00 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 6:

Now she's at the, I saw your post on Cupcake Shannon, Follow Shannon, and it looks cool. Like you walk up, it's not like an old where you sit down and they'd come and take your order.

01:40:12 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you kind of like go through the line. Like you do out like a Chipotle or something and you can get like different things.

01:40:18 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 6:

Are they going to open more of these too? Like I'd love one in my neighborhood. Yeah, I think this was the first one around.

01:40:22 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 2:

Wait, one more question about it. What did Smith think of the Snackers?

01:40:25 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God, he was obsessed and he brought some home. Yes, love to hear it. Yeah, he loved them. So these Canadian wildfires, I mean, it's definitely a little bit better today than yesterday, but the air quality is still in that hazardous range.

01:40:39 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 2:

Tonight, massive plumes of smoke from those fires in Canada choking the upper Midwest and Northeast for a second straight day.

01:40:46 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 5:

I have asthma, and so I might be a little bit more concerned than other people.

01:40:51 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Millions under air quality alerts in at least 19 states. New York City is handing out free KN95 masks at public libraries like this one and police and fire stations. The smoke, combined with this oppressive heat wave, is a dangerous pairing, especially for those with pre-existing conditions. Chicago recording some of the worst air quality in the world among major cities.

01:41:12 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 1:

When you get to these burgundy dots, that's hazardous.

01:41:15 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 2:

A Delta flight capturing the smoke-clogged skies over New York City, the pilot alerting passengers.

01:41:21 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 3:

So if you do smell that, a little bit of smoke, that's what we're going through right now. But just wanted to let you guys know, that's from the wildfires out west.

01:41:29 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 2:

At Philadelphia International Airport, the low visibility triggering flight delays. Ash sticking to an American Airlines plane in flight.

01:41:37 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's appearing to the windshield. I've never seen it stick to the windshield like this.

01:41:41 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 2:

Tonight, more than 180 fires ablaze in Ontario, Canada alone. An American visiting the area, seeing the inferno up close. We're getting out of here, getting a little too close for comfort.

01:41:52 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 6:

That's crazy that airplanes that are flying are getting ash stuck to their windshield and glass.

01:42:01 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 1:

Wes flew out of town yesterday, and he sent me a video from when they got up a certain height. And it was just all, it was crazy to see from there, from the airplane window.

01:42:11 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 6:

I want to see that video. The video of the actual. Wes's first person shooter mode. Send it to the group. Oh, because they, the guy that's in that news report that we just said, that's in Ontario showing him sitting, he was on a kayak.

01:42:26 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

01:42:26 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 6:

And you see him going through the water and there's fire.

01:42:29 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 1:

I actually, I think I saw that video yesterday. I mean, it's bad. It's really bad. Yeah. So just be careful again today. Chris Jenner's mom married Joe. We all know her as MJ has passed away at 91 years old.

01:42:42 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 3:

How old were you when you got kissed the first time? 15. And who did you kiss? Do you remember his name? Yeah, I married him.

01:42:50 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 1:

Amazing. Her first kiss she married. That was so cute. But we were only married two months. Two months? Yeah. Less than Kimmy. Chris announced her mom's death yesterday. Didn't say what she passed from, but she did right. Today we said goodbye to my beautiful mommy, MJ. There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye. A longtime operator of President Trump's teleprompter has been placed on unpaid administrative leave after winning more than $100,000 on Kelshi based off of the president's remarks. So this guy's name is Gabriel Perez. He would place bets on whether Trump would use specific words or phrases or address certain topics in his speeches. Well, he knew because he operated the teleprompter.

01:43:42 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 3:

And behind the scenes, operating President Trump's teleprompter for more than a decade, Gabriel Perez, the guy who knew what Trump was going to say before he said it.

01:43:51 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 5:

I have a guy, Gabe. He's excellent. I've had some real bad ones, but I have Gabe.

01:43:55 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 3:

But tonight, sources tell ABC News Gabriel Perez used his inside knowledge to place bets and win more than $100,000 in the prediction market, Calci. My fellow Americans, our nation is back. Sources tell us Paris bet on more than a dozen Trump speeches, including this year's State of the Union through Calci's Mentions Market, where users wager on whether certain words and phrases will be said. President Trump is famous for going off script.

01:44:23 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 4:

You know, when you go up here, you take a big chance, especially me, because I go off teleprompter about 80 percent of the time.

01:44:29 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 3:

Sources tell us Paris sometimes pulled bets mid-speech when Trump skipped words that were in the teleprompter. It was the prediction market itself that sounded the alarm. Kalshi says it flagged federal regulators. Trump was informed of the situation.

01:44:42 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

He believes it's deeply unfortunate and frankly a disgrace.

01:44:47 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 3:

And tonight, Perez put on indefinite unpaid leave.

01:44:51 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 1:

They said it was the president who, you know, wanted to remove him from his position. Can I just say this, though?

01:44:57 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 6:

I think these betting markets have to stop doing these promises.

01:45:00 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 7:

prop bets they have to do the whole just you know scoring and you know stuff like these prop bets that are like bets like that are so much easier to manipulate than what we've seen manipulated with the games and these guys getting in trouble um i i don't know i there's going to be something that's going to have like a federal regulation of this thing because you think about it if you got a like a bet of how long a national anthem is going to be and all the rest of that stuff all you have to do is tell family to to do the betting and not you right like you're getting caught because you're the idiot teleprompter that's winning a hundred thousand dollars yeah and that's how they're catching you but you know what you have the teleprompter neighbor you know there's radio used to have this so there was an issue back in the day in radio like we're giving away the car where a guy in West Michigan gave the car to his neighbor and it got suspicious that people in the neighborhood were like oh my god so your next door neighbor who you hang with all the time won the car giveaway come on and they turned it into the FCC and the guy ended up getting fired and I think he was completely banned from radio ever again so it's crazy all

I love you. I love you for listening. Tasha is from Detroit. What side of Detroit?

01:46:59 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 6:

West side.

01:47:00 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 7:

I like the east side kind of better. Shout out to the east side too. We got a car, a $28,000 brand new Chevy Trax, 2026 Chevy Trax. or you could pick the money cash give out. That would be $20,000. Which one would you take?

01:47:20 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 1:

The cash.

01:47:21 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 7:

01:47:37 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 3:

All right. Thank you.

01:47:39 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 7:

Thank you so much. What do you got planned this weekend, Tasha?

01:47:43 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know yet. Just stay out.

01:47:47 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, stay home today, and then tomorrow they say it will be a little bit better starting tomorrow morning, but it's still pretty bad out there. Yeah. All right, hang on one second, okay? Okay. When we come back here in a second, Chelsea's mad at me because I let a stranger eat off her plate. I will talk about that, and we have a new Gracie Abrams song. It's Friday, and we do new music on Friday, Okay, so I'll get that for you. I actually like Gracie Abrams.

01:48:15 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 6:

I do too. I love her. I only know one of her records. I don't know any of her songs.

01:48:19 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 7:

That's the only one I kind of know, too.

01:48:21 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 4:

You probably know the one. I can't think of it off the top, but you know the one. How does it go? Sing it? Yeah, right here.

01:48:26 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 7:

I can't think of it. Ready? You know the song, don't you, Anna Robb? I like her. You know who her dad is?

01:48:32 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:48:33 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 7:

Her dad's the guy that ruined the Star Wars movies.

01:48:34 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 4:

Don't say that. Don't say that.

01:48:36 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 7:

Right?

01:48:36 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 4:

Why do you say that? J.J. Abrams?

01:48:38 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 7:

J.J. Abrams. He did the worst Star Wars movie of all time, according to my son. We'll be back with more next.

01:50:44 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. home of war the roses the second date update uh the dirties on the 30s the five lies to tell your mom phone scams uh am i the a-hole throwback throwdown it's good to have you guys here with us today i uh did something that probably was not wise uh and my lovely wife chelsea was really upset about it now i talk about times that i make chelsea upset a lot i know that that's kind of like my cliche topic so to speak um but i will tell you this was a funny story and i'm going to tell you anyway so we were having dinner and we decided that we were going to order appetizers we decided we were going to order buffalo wings okay and i'm the type of person that when i'm out at a restaurant i end up talking to the tables by us you know i end up having conversations with people so i turn around and i look at these guys that are there sitting at the table and uh and i said hey what's going on fellas and uh the one guy goes everything's good hey how the wings here and I said you know what you want one and this is so you the guy says yes it's a random it's a random have no no don't hang out with this guy I'm not a not a okay so I go okay I grab uh I've never usually had somebody take me up on it but I'm thinking okay this I don't know this guy's call my bluff or what i grabbed the bowl full of wings which by the way had a tong with it okay and i grab it and i hand it right over to the guy he doesn't use the tong use his fingers he grabbed one with his fingers but i noticed where he grabbed he was not grabbing others yeah okay here's where the problem goes hold on a second my wife is on the phone so let me uh let me let me grab her real quick chelsea are you there the mountain here's where the problem goes and maybe chelsea you'd like to describe what the guy did with the wing in his hand so then he took the wing

01:52:48 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 6:

that he grabbed with his fingers out of the bowl and reached over me and dipped it in my ranch and as his arm went over me and dipped in the ranch i literally looked at him and said what the f because gross and he just looked at me like how could you speak like that and then ate the wing and then ensued

01:53:19 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 5:

the silent treatment for the rest of the evening and I'm assuming you did not then finish said bowl of wings

01:53:27 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

she didn't touch one more I did I ate them all I was like going crazy I, I, but here's the thing though, Chelsea, so Chelsea, then we, then we get into a little bit of a discussion because Chelsea, you have the belief that I don't, when I'm, when you're out with me, give you my undivided attention because of not just my phone. I talk to other people

01:53:50 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 6:

before I talk. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So it was ignoring me and going over to another table taking the bowl of wings and giving them the bowl it was the whole

01:54:04 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

thing start to finish the the part that where it got really and it was bad i i will say this too it is amazing that we have i think i'm still married no no no it is we do have moments where there are moments where i go god tom that was a really stupid thing this was one of those moments Like, I realized, okay, she's right. Like, that was dumb. You know, I got to stop being so, you know, friendly and stuff like that. The rest of the dinner, Chelsea, you ordered, like, a steak and a baked potato or something, didn't you? The rest of the dinner, Chelsea's like, do you want to give him some of this?

01:54:44 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 2:

Did he send over a drink or anything? No. No. See, no. So, look, I'm not mad that you offered the guy a wing. I'm not mad that he grabbed it I'm a little mad But as long as you only touch the one that you're about to eat And your knuckle doesn't and scrape, you don't got hairy-ass knuckles that scrape, none of that stuff, I'm good. Do not dip your wing in our ranch. Don't do that. That's too far. And then you don't send a drink over afterwards is even crazier.

01:55:11 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 1:

The wing in the ranch thing I did not expect.

01:55:13 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 2:

That is crazy. Nobody expected that.

01:55:16 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 1:

I was like, this son of a bitch doesn't know who he's messing with. Have you ever heard Chelsea?

01:55:20 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, you could have taken a wing and put it on a plate and give it to him.

01:55:25 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 2:

Or napkin. True.

01:55:26 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 1:

Like made him a plate like a mom does for her child. Make him a little play.

01:55:31 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, yes.

01:55:32 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 1:

Or threw it to him.

01:55:33 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

You are a child, and we should have done that. Threw it to him like a sea lion.

01:55:36 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 1:

My question to ask is, was I being friendly, or did I totally cross the line by offering a stranger food off of our plate? I think you were good. Thank you, Kevin. See, Chelsea, Kevin agrees with me. And Kevin's single, so.

01:55:51 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 2:

No, listen, I would have done this if I was 30 or 40 years deep like y'all are. I don't know.

01:55:57 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 4:

Like, I feel like Wes always does this when we're out. He'll somebody else will get food at the table next to us and he'll interrupt them and be like, excuse me, what did you order? Like, what is that? I would never expect anybody to be like, want to bite, like want to try it, which is what this man did, essentially.

01:56:14 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 1:

Do you do you think people think that it's rude? Because I do that with like West does. I always will ask them questions about their food.

01:56:20 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 4:

I just I always tell him, I'm like, why don't you just ask the waiter? Ask the waiter what it is, like point to that table.

01:56:25 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 1:

I like to get like the real review. You know what I mean? I like to have the honest answer.

01:56:33 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm good with a little conversation between tables. That's cool. Dipping in the ranch. Hey, bro, is that good? And people are typically extremely friendly. Yeah. Like, they'll respond and give you the real.

01:56:42 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is, and Chelsea and I laughed about this, Scott Conrad, our friend Scott Conrad, will you tell everybody what he does with strangers' foods?

01:56:53 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, with mine, he always finishes my food. He'll say, was that good? I'm like, yes. Can I have the rest? absolutely. What do I care?

01:57:00 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 1:

If Scott Conrad... When I'm done, yeah. If he's at the same restaurant that we're at, and he's eating dinner with his family, or coming in as we're getting ready to leave, he will literally eat the remains off of Chelsea's plate. Well, I order well. See, if it was Scott Conrad grabbing a wing, Chelsea knows where his fingers have been. Dipping it in ass.

01:57:27 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 3:

I know Scott. That's so different.

01:57:31 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 1:

You didn't know this guy.

01:57:32 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 3:

It's so different.

01:57:32 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, Miranda. No, neither did you. Miranda, what did you want to say? Hi.

01:57:38 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I am on Chelsea's side 100%.

01:57:41 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 1:

Everybody is. Believe me. Seriously. If it was a jury of my peers, they would be Chelsea's peers, and I would get found guilty instantly. Miranda.

01:57:52 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 4:

Yes, put me on the jury. Yeah.

01:57:54 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 1:

Miranda, do you like buffalo wings? Because I'll let you try some of ours next time. All right. Talk to you later. No, I'm good, buddy. I love it. The funny thing was after that, like after Chels got really upset with me, like it was one of those things where I'm like, oh, she is definitely like really pissed. Like this is not acting pissed. I did look over at the guy and I'm thinking, should I give him one of the wet wipes? Oh, my gosh. Is there something I could do? All right. I love you, Chelsea. I'll talk to you later. Okay.

01:58:26 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 3:

I love you. Bye.

01:58:27 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 1:

By the way, is it okay for me to go outside and play today, or do I have to stay inside of the house and not-

01:58:33 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 3:

No, we have to stay inside if it's bad. Nope.

01:58:36 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 1:

No. Okay. All right. Thank you. Everybody agreed with her on that, too.

01:58:40 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 2:

Everybody. No, she was true about shit. You're just taking out. She's looking out, bro.

01:58:43 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 1:

By tonight, it will be clean. It will be good.

01:58:45 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. I think tomorrow, we still going to have a little haze, too. You think so? Yeah. I think it's just magazine's not going to go out. I mean, I have an event tomorrow. Let's see if they cancel it. Wait, where's your event? Plug it. I don't know. Next commercial, I'll do it.

01:58:57 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, all right. Let me do pay your bills. Fine. Figure out. Mojo in the morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now. Pay your bills is on. I actually saw it on Instagram. Oh, I got it now. Mojo in the morning, online.

01:59:32 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 4:

MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:59:33 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

And then do this. Pick up the phone if you get a call from an out-of-area number. That's how we'll tell you that you won. This is the first of $13,000 that we'll give away today. iHeartRadio and Mojo in the morning. All right, where are you at, Kev?

01:59:46 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'll be in Palmer Park tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is Detroit's Public Safety Fun Day. So this is something for the family. It'll go until 5 p.m., but we'll have bounce houses. Tons of family activities, giveaways, free hot dogs. You can come get a glizzy if you want. What's a glizzy? A hot dog. A hot dog. Is that what they call a hot dog? A glizzy. Yeah.

02:00:11 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 1:

Some glizzy gobblers out there. It was National Hot Dog Day the other day, and we didn't do anything on our show about it. We should have had a hot dog.

02:00:21 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

We should have had a hot dog eating contest. No.

02:00:24 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's got our chestnut on. We don't need a contest for everything. We just need, there's only one. It's all between us.

02:00:32 - 02:00:34 | Speaker 2:

It could have been like a social thing. I like it.

02:00:34 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, so again, Palmer. I never thought you would turn down an opportunity to eat. I can't do the food. I'm on a GLP-1. I'm on a weight loss shot. That's true. So the problem is if I gear up for something like this, I want to win. Because I know, I'm not really athletic, but I know food.

02:00:50 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had a food contest or eating competition?

02:00:53 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 1:

I did a hot dog contest once back in Tucson at KRQ, and I think I did a wings contest in downtown Pontiac.

02:01:04 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

Wings would be fire. Yeah. How did you do in the hot dog contest?

02:01:07 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 1:

I didn't do good because the bread, but the wings contest, it was, oh gosh, I'm trying to think of who it was. It was one of the TV people that I- Something against? Yeah, it might have been Dina Santafonte or something like that.

02:01:23 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 3:

She did the contest?

02:01:24 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes, there was people from other TV stations, radio stations, and stuff like that. If I'm not mistaken.

02:01:31 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 3:

A wing contest would be hard to judge, because how do you judge if it's properly eaten? You've got to clean your bones. Unless it's boneless, I guess.

02:01:36 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 1:

It was bones. Yeah, how many bones you had on the plate. You're right, though.

02:01:40 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

Everybody don't eat chicken the same. Yeah.

02:01:41 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 1:

Palmer Park. Amen. Tomorrow. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon follows somebody on social media, and she's wondering if somebody has noticed what she's noticed. What's going on?

02:01:55 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 3:

So she has to dress in those. I call them fancy scrubs. They're by the brand Figs. Do you know what I'm talking about? She has to dress in them for work. I'm not going to say what she did. They're so cute. They have, like, jogger bottoms and stuff. So anytime she posts on her social media, she posts a lot of work-related videos. And for whatever reason, I don't even know if she does this on purpose. but it looks like she hikes up the bottoms and so she has camel toe in every single video she posts like very obvious outline and my friends and I were talking about this yesterday and we can't figure out if she knows that this is the case and doesn't care or if she is completely unaware but I don't know how you can be unaware like you see it you see them and it you see the photos and

02:02:44 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 2:

videos and it's so is she married let me see why is her man not telling her stop showing that off

02:02:50 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 1:

i don't think she's married is she um is she an influencer is that what it is or no what does she do for a living she i don't want to say she's obviously a nurse or something yeah because i think she's local okay okay so she oh so she but she isn't she is a an influencer oh wow yeah can i

02:03:08 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 2:

Can I see her whole face, though?

02:03:15 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

I'll see if I've seen her before. Do you know her? That moose knuckle. Do you know her? I might have seen her. Is there a difference between moose knuckle and... Moose knuckle thicker than a camel toe. Is it moose knuckle guys' camel toe? No. Oh, it is?

02:03:29 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Gorilla talks about her moose knuckle all the time. I feel like I'm so self-conscious of that. Because, like, I do have certain leggings that do that, and I'm always, like, trying to discreetly pull it down a little bit.

02:03:40 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 2:

That's not a turn-on. It's not a turn-on? Do you find that attractive?

02:03:45 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't. I actually, like, I like cleavage better than camel toe. Right. You know?

02:03:51 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 2:

I've never seen a toe and been like, eh, you're just fat. I ain't never been like, well, I mean, maybe I have. When I say it like that, but I've never, like, seen it in some leggings and be like, wow. Fat cat.

02:04:02 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like most girls try to avoid that.

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:04:06 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

I do.

02:04:07 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

I do. There's one influencer that I am secretly crushing on right now.

02:04:13 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh.

02:04:14 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 1:

And next time that she comes up, I don't even know who she is. But you follow her? But no, she just is in my algorithm. Like, it shows up. Oh, on your life. It says, it always says that I should follow her. You know, it does anything. But she'll show stuff. I think she's Chaldean or she's Albanian or something. and she does just random things like where she's on a plane like doing stuff and she is so cute when she when she does her her stuff and i never feel like she's selling me on something i don't know what it is that's she's a good one does she have a camel toe she does no i don't know why i'm

02:04:48 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 3:

bringing this i'm wondering where you're going but i'm crushing i'm crushing on her and i don't

02:04:53 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

know what the story is about it the best ones make you feel like they're not they're not selling That's how they are the whole time.

02:05:00 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 5:

know i like when they're anna does it anna does a good job of it thank you rob anna rob if you don't follow anna rob shannon's great at it too shannon sells me like and there's no joke shannon can sell she can sell sell you know uh i used to an eskimo you know what i mean it's easy when something's fit and good yeah i use it uh i would want to know i'd get in that ladies

02:05:26 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 3:

No, that is so weird. You would what? Excuse me, miss. Do you know?

02:05:32 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if anybody's told you this yet. Have you ever had one and somebody told you? Or like a friend or somebody said something?

02:05:41 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Not that I can remember.

02:05:43 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 3:

Not that I can remember. I do have a friend who always has one. We make fun of her incessantly. But she's aware. She's aware. She gets them very easily.

02:05:52 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 6:

Y'all have camel toes?

02:05:54 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes. Yeah, mine's strong. There's been times where I had to readjust the way I'm standing and my friends take pictures. Yeah, because you don't want it that way. No. No, that thing was barking.

02:06:07 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Oh, yeah, Bianca.

02:06:09 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to lie. I think I have a built-in one. I think it's like part of the genetics. Oh, okay.

02:06:13 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Do you know that there's underwear? Chels actually used to sell it in the store that she owned. It's called Camel No. And it's underwear and it has like this silicone pad in the middle of it. until you can't have, even if you're wearing leggings, you can't have camel toe.

02:06:27 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 5:

Misfit Tony hasn't been on with us in a while. Of course, Tony, we need to talk to you.

02:06:31 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 4:

You already know this is my kind of conversation right here. This is my kind of conversation. Tony talking toes.

02:06:39 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Tony, what are your thoughts on camel toe?

02:06:43 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 4:

Definitely do not tell her about that young camel toe because we like that. I know. That monkey be fat.

02:06:57 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 5:

Is that like my woman would be a fat monkey?

02:06:58 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

I feel like somebody close to her needs to say something because every video and photo is that.

02:07:06 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 4:

You know why you don't like it? Because you're a female and you're heterosexual. Us men that are heterosexual, we love it.

02:07:16 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 6:

I don't know, Tony. I ain't really trying to see the camel toe poking out like that in the leggings. Oh, you don't like that fat monkey? It don't do nothing to me. Why are you? Hey, never mind. Hold on. What is it? I will tell you this, though, because I said this the other day, and Shannon kind of looked at me crazy. I prefer a deli sandwich.

02:07:33 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:07:33 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 6:

All the sandwiches I've made.

02:07:35 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that's it. You don't have to get into it more. Okay, cool.

02:07:37 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 6:

Yes, but that's in a different way. I don't need to see it through the bag.

02:07:41 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 5:

What about moose knuckle? Do you ever have moose knuckle, Misfit Tony?

02:07:48 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm not up on the moose knuckle. You got to get me there, bro.

02:07:51 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 5:

It's where your balls kind of separate and look like a knuckles on a moose. You ever see that?

02:08:00 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 4:

God bless me in other areas. He blessed me with big balls.

02:08:07 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, Tony, I appreciate it. I like when Tony, my favorite thing is we'll have a conversation that is a non-Tony conversation, and he'll go, can you please go back and talk about camel toe? And hose. I would like, yeah.

02:08:19 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 4:

I love all y'all, for real, for real. I love you, buddy. You know, I'm no longer in the Michigan area.

02:08:28 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Where are you at, Tony? He's on the run.

02:08:32 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 4:

I told y'all a while back that I made some business moves, and it took me out of the state of Michigan, but it's extremely lucrative. What state? So I'm blessed and very favored.

02:08:43 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Where are you?

02:08:44 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Right now, I'm just handling business.

02:08:46 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 5:

I know. Where are you at? Are you in Florida now, so you don't have to pay taxes? What is it?

02:08:51 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. I'm in Kentucky.

02:08:54 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 5:

Kentucky. Louisville or Lexington?

02:09:00 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 4:

Louisville area, yeah. I'm getting to the back.

02:09:02 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 5:

Tony, I'm coming down in a couple of months for a bourbon pick. You should come and hang with us. Can you imagine Tony hanging out with Louis Yaldo and Brian Reeve?

02:09:13 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 4:

I invited you and Kev to go buy a Harley with me. and somebody cock-blocked it.

02:09:21 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 6:

Say their names, honey.

02:09:24 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm not putting them on blast, but I wanted to invite you guys to go buy a Harley. I was going to buy y'all a lunch, hang out with y'all for a day, but I went and bought a Harley, and I wanted you and Kev to go with me, Mojo. I knew nothing about you.

02:09:39 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 5:

Who said no way? It can only be Lydia.

02:09:44 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 1:

I never said no to that. Don't start with me, Tony. You're going to open up a really big box of worms that you won't want to fish with.

02:09:50 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm starting with you because my brother just asked to call you out. You had my phone number. You never once texted me about that. Why do I care if you want to?

02:10:00 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 8:

Why don't you take these guys out to ride motorcycles? What's that got to do with me? Thought so. I wanted to ask on air, Lydia. Oh, and she went. If Mojo and Kevin wanted to hang out.

02:10:11 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 11:

We were probably busy, Tony.

02:10:12 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 8:

No. She's very protective of the air. No, I wasn't even busy. Don't. Don't do that, Tony.

02:10:18 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 11:

All right, I'll come see you in Louisville. We'll see you, buddy. Hold on. Alexis wants to say something to Shannon about the camel toe person. What did you want to say, Alexis?

02:10:27 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 8:

um people in her comments are probably already letting her know i usually when somebody posts

02:10:33 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 11:

like that there's comments it is funny though that there's something so obvious that nobody says anything unless she's got it blocked maybe she has a keyword camel toe block but but but i i will i will say i will say this you can do that it's amazing it is amazing to know though that people are so unbelievably rude sometimes with the comments that they will say on social media um all right we'll be right back with more mojo in the morning more camel toe for

02:15:00 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 1:

have a clothing line for many many many years now is the time because we're becoming adults we're actually have the time we're 19 years old yes we're not in high school anymore we're becoming young women how is your relationship with your dad it's great good yes it's great we definitely are very close and he gives the best advice he's very very like knowledgeable in that aspect we ask him all the time like can we need help on this we need help on that also something that he like has always consistently said to us success won't be like candid to you like don't expect you to go like this and success will come like you have to put in the work you have to put in the time that advice has really really shaped us today because we've put in so much work he's really

02:15:40 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 4:

really beautiful beautiful girls is it good for them to to be associating themselves with their dad like hardly not hardly supposed to not well i know i'm saying is put the like is this clothing line going to be affected in a negative way because the negativity of the dad but do you

02:15:57 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 5:

stop your dreams because somebody in your family did something bad well i think that the dad's got

02:16:03 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 4:

kind of a little bit of a tarnished reputation right now and some people may hold it against

02:16:08 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 5:

the kids yeah and shame on them for doing that yeah they didn't they didn't do it they didn't

02:16:13 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 4:

have no parties i just want to know what an imaging consultant would say like should they call it something that's after the diddy family the combs family you know to punish the children for

02:16:25 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 5:

the sins of their fathers is ridiculous yeah yesterday morning inside of the today show

02:16:30 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 6:

studio over at nbc's rockefeller plaza some guy like busted through security and lunged at co-host craig melvin i believe he was actually looking for al roker uh this person was apparently asking

02:16:44 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 7:

and and how they got past security that's the big question again but they they somehow someway get past security they were asking for al roker they uh when the guy could not find al roker he seemingly then turned his attention uh in the worst possible way to craig melvin and again that's when the slur comes that's when he lunges thankfully uh they were able to restrain this person there are obviously there are uniformed police officers who work the show there are also undercover officers who work the show they got him uh in custody he has since been arrested uh again concern we've got some photographs from people standing around craig with with uh what looks like might be security or officers having conversations with them although like the pro he is 10 minutes later he's on the air and you'd have no idea just went off without a hitch and you wouldn't even know

02:17:31 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 6:

anything happened but what a scary moment they didn't talk about it at all on the show yesterday but this morning craig oh my god i think that is friday craig melvin there we go did talk about

02:17:40 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 3:

it briefly. I want to take just a quick moment to address an incident that happened yesterday. You may have heard that unfortunately an intruder made his way into an unauthorized area here in Studio 1A. Thankfully he was apprehended quickly. He was placed under arrest. We are cooperating fully with the NYPD as they investigate the matter and we are just very happy that everyone

02:18:01 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 6:

is safe. Absolutely. Yes of course we want to make sure that you're safe. Safe and sound. Safe and at all times. That's crazy. I know, isn't it? It's crazy. And I've been, have you been to Rockefeller?

02:18:12 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 4:

I've been outside the thing, but they weren't doing today's show, yeah.

02:18:16 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 6:

Nuts. All the time. I don't know how he did it. Do you guys know who passed away? This makes me really sad. Have you ever seen Home Alone 2? Yeah, for sure. The pigeon lady. Oh. No. She died. She was 81 years old. Her name's Brenda Fricker. Oscar winning actress, by the way. But yeah, Best known for playing the iconic pigeon lady in Home Alone 2 Passed Away.

02:18:39 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 5:

She had wisdom.

02:18:40 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 6:

It made me so sad when I saw that.

02:18:41 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 5:

They got a barrier with a pigeon. I know that's not her only thing in life. In Central Park. A pigeon pin.

02:18:46 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 4:

Do you think, though, that they'll do something for her in Central Park?

02:18:50 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 5:

Macaulay Culkin got to say something.

02:18:51 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Any time that you have ever gone and you've ever been in Central Park before, that's all I think about is that particular movie.

02:18:58 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 6:

An Elf, yeah.

02:18:59 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 4:

Elf now, yeah. And Serendipity. Yeah.

02:19:01 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 5:

See, the list is growing. I think of Law and Order. What was the episode in there? Law and order. A few. A lot of people die. A few.

02:19:09 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 6:

And lastly, everybody's still talking about explosive diarrhea. Now, shredded lettuce from a supplier called Taylor Farms is at the center of this outbreak.

02:19:18 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

The FDA thinks a possible culprit for the outbreak in four states is iceberg lettuce, supplied to Taco Bell by Taylor Farms, according to a person familiar with the investigation. Nationwide, nearly 7,000 Americans have gotten sick from something called cyclosporiasis, a parasite-borne illness triggering cramps and severe diarrhea. Identifying a potential source, the first step in solving a problem that impacts a total of 34 states. How soon could it end? It could end several weeks after they've identified a source and been able to issue those consumer safety recalls or being able to kind of Make sure that any source is off the market, out of refrigerators, off shelves completely. In Michigan, there are 4,312 cases and climbing. One of them is Natalie Webb. I don't ever want to have to experience anything like that again. Taylor Farms, the nation's largest supplier of lettuce and leafy greens, has been linked to previous outbreaks. It voluntarily recalled yellow onions after E. coli was found at some McDonald's restaurants in 2024.

02:20:29 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 4:

And so many families out there are going to be asking the same question. What should they do now?

02:20:33 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

The guidance remains the same, Tom. That is to wash your produce, only buy whole heads of lettuce. But we have some late-breaking news. Our source tells us this outbreak is now they are looking this connection of lettuce in five states. Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. So five states now. And Taco Bell, the restaurant mentioned in the piece, it voluntarily removed some produce earlier in this month.

02:21:01 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 6:

Lots of other restaurants besides Taco Bell and grocery stores that this company, this Taylor Fresh or Taylor Made supplies.

02:21:08 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 7:

I think they might not need, I'd stick away from that. I mean, this is the second time they've had something like this.

02:21:16 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 6:

Last night I had all the girls over, I got them pizza, I got Smith Wings, and I sat there and ate a salad. And halfway through it, I'm like, no, what am I doing? I feel fine.

02:21:26 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 7:

Is it just the, like, iceberg lettuce or is there a specific lettuce?

02:21:31 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 6:

That's what they say.

02:21:32 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 7:

Yikes.

02:21:32 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 2:

Didn't they say symptoms show up a week after you eat it? Shut up. I feel fine right now.

02:21:37 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 6:

A week after.

02:21:37 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Does that feel true?

02:21:38 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 6:

Then how do you know where it came from? I don't know. I eat a lot. I know. I don't remember. Yeah. All right. If you miss anything from today, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app. That's it for the week.

02:22:42 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 8:

02:23:48 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 5:

first time we've been dealing with drifting wildfire smoke uh coming in from canada and other parts of the u.s it's a repeat of the scenario that happened both in 2023 and last year, 2025. And the concern is the fine particulate matter in the smoke can get deep into your lungs and even into your bloodstream. And long-term exposure to these particles can greatly increase your risk to certain diseases, including COPD and lung cancer. Joining me now to discuss these long-term risks is Dr. Devang Doshi. In fact, I spoke to Dr. Doshi in 2023 when we first started dealing with this. Dr. Doshi is an allergist, immunologist, and pediatric pulmonologist from Corwell Health. Doctor, thank you so much for joining us again. Thank you. Thank you. Good morning. What are some of the most concerning long-term health risks associated with repeated

02:24:34 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

exposure to this wildfire smoke? Yeah, so just as you alluded to, a lot of these patients that are continuously exposed to this, even episodically, like we've been seeing for summers, are going to be at increased risk of acceleration of lung disease, COPD, asthma, even risks of lung cancer. And like you mentioned, these particulate matters do enter the bloodstream and put patients at very high risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, heart attacks, and even neural.

02:25:00 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 7:

psychological impacts of increasing risk of strokes and dementia. So they have to really be careful. Now, we talk about these things, COPD, asthma, stroke, dementia. These are big, big issues. And we think of them as being down the line. I mean, is this a concern for, for instance, let's say children, you're eight years old and you're thinking of dementia, you know,

02:25:19 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 6:

50, 60 years down the line? No kids can be thinking of dementia right now. But Cody, you're outdoors and you just heard that it could cause issues. What are your thoughts? What are

02:25:29 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 3:

do what do you do that you have to be outdoors i'm a painter so i'm painting the spring lake library and uh close to grand haven and i just got sent off the job because of the smoke exposure

02:25:41 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 6:

oh yeah i mean i think that you guys should definitely not be doing this until with paint

02:25:49 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

yeah like i just feel like that's a lot of bad things you're inhaling i definitely lungs are yeah yeah what's the um azo yes do you think she could help me get a class action lawsuit against

02:26:01 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 6:

canada she can do anything um be safe buddy and i'm glad that you're smart enough to not be out

02:26:11 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 3:

there doing this today just take the day i'm just just pulling in my driveway i'm done for the day

02:26:16 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 6:

yeah all right good for you man amanda what's up amanda hey so i work for amazon i mean i'm off

02:26:23 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 4:

today um but yeah all the amazon people are out delivering out today yesterday they had shut down all the uh stations all the warehouses so none of the drivers were out delivering yesterday but now they're back in full operation today so they were handing out uh n95 masks to all the drivers so they just got to be out there in the n95 mask delivering yeah i mean we can go a day without

02:26:50 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 6:

our deliveries, can't we?

02:26:52 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I would say so.

02:26:54 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 6:

No, Shannon says no. Risk your life. I said that very quietly. Risk your life for Shannon. So what are you looking for, Shannon? What are you wanting to get?

02:27:02 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 2:

What am I supposed to get delivered today? Beads. Beads for a project. I was wondering when my charger said Tuesday was going to get delivered. I was like, I've got to run.

02:27:11 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 4:

If your driver falls out, Shannon, you might not get your package. It's okay. That's okay.

02:27:17 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. 30 years from now. Joy is a FedEx driver, so Amazon versus FedEx. Are you guys delivering today, or are you guys saying no?

02:27:24 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yes.

02:27:25 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 6:

You are.

02:27:25 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we deliver to all the hospitals, but we got every hospital down here. Yeah, that's important stuff. So it's no station down or nothing like that. We got to get it there. Be careful, please.

02:27:39 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 6:

Do you have air conditioning in your vehicles?

02:27:42 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 5:

I do. I drive a toilet, so I'm good.

02:27:44 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, put it on recycled air, please. I did that yesterday. Thank you for saying that. Mason does concrete outside. What's up, Mason? But look at this, Mason. Hey, how's it going, Mojo? What a perfect name for you, a masonary there.

02:27:59 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Mason the Mason, you know it.

02:28:01 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, what's going on?

02:28:04 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I mean, I just wanted to comment a little bit on the wildfires. Yes. You know, I heard you mention it's like, what, 10 packs or 10 cigs a day? Yeah. And, I mean, in this industry, I feel like most of us are smoking 10 cigs a day anyway. So, you know, it's not too much of a change for a lot of these guys out here. But, you know, combined with the 90-degree heat, it's been brutal. But, you know, things got to get done, right?

02:28:27 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 6:

Let me tell you this. My buddy Jason was getting upset about this whole thing because he's working outdoors and didn't like the idea that he's got to work outdoors in this thing. So he took off yesterday, only to go home and probably have one of the entire cylinders of Zins. so so he didn't he didn't want to he didn't want to you know be outside but instead was at home with his uh spearmint and zins one's voluntary i guess what's up greg well just working on cell

02:28:58 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

towers uh hvac units for at&t and verizon um out in this all day long every day um company i work for they just said take it easy but we take it easy we get behind so can't do it hey does this

02:29:15 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 6:

affect your cell service i wonder if all this smoke is bad for that because of you know it

02:29:21 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 2:

seems to me like there's so much atmospheric stuff i drive a lot and i uh talk to my girl on the phone when i'm driving and it's hands free um and yes it does affect it it's affecting the sell uh phone services so um yeah and i don't even smoke and this stuff is bad it is how high

02:29:45 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 7:

in the air are you when you're on these towers i don't have to crawl on the tower i stay on the

02:29:50 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

ground because all the hvac is on the ground okay okay well they said it's supposed to get a little bit better tonight and by tomorrow we should like noticeably see

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 7:

and feel an improvement. I hope so. Jen, are you there, Jen?

02:30:04 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I am.

02:30:05 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 7:

What did you want me to do?

02:30:07 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 3:

So, you guys know the rapper G. Matt Cash?

02:30:11 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, the Tigers won again, the Pistons won again, the Lions won again.

02:30:16 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 3:

You just released a song about I can't go outside.

02:30:19 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really?

02:30:21 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Is it clean? Like bad air, I can't go outside. Well, no, no, you gotta believe it. I was like, sorry, my mouth was just like, what?

02:30:32 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 7:

Hold on, I'm read it down. Real quick, isn't that the same, does he do a song that's different, though? I love G-Mac, but it sounds like it's the same one for every one of these ones. He's very creative. The air lost again. G-Mac, very creative. G-Mac, do you have a clean version of that song? Jen, that song probably got hilarious. You did say. All right, I'm going to go check it out.

02:30:55 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 6:

I'm playing as soon as I get in the car.

02:30:57 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 7:

02:31:22 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 7:

Make sure she's safe Please

02:31:24 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 6:

Let's get her an air purifier too Grandma, mother her, right? Yeah, she said, I ain't going outside at all. She want me to wear a mask.

02:31:35 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 7:
