Here we go. Go. Go. Here we go. Go. Go. It's showtime.

00:01:09 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 4:

Happy Friday. Good to have you guys here with us. I think we definitely started talking Coldplay. Shannon broke the story to us yesterday in The Dirty. We were talking about it yesterday morning, and I didn't realize until after the show that this story had so much legs, like it was going to grow and grow and grow. But the story, which I think everybody by now has seen the video, if you haven't, you're probably under a rocker. You were really busy yesterday. But the CEO of a company at a Coldplay concert with his, I guess like his person that does all his human resources stuff, and they are outed for having an affair. They're both married. Crazy. It's kind of interesting. They put them up on the big screen. You know how they do, like, kiss cams at all of the Tigers and Lions and Pistons games? Well, they put them up on that thing. And Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. Yeah.

00:02:09 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, look at these two. All right. Come on. You're okay?

00:02:13 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 5:

Uh-oh. What? Either they're having an affair or they have to spare a shot. He made it even worse. Ding, ding, ding.

00:02:21 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 4:

Just blue boy. Come on, let me just say this to you. The CEO of this company, I don't know what kind of smarts this guy has, but obviously he's got some because he's the CEO of a company.

00:02:30 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 5:

It's a billion-dollar company, too.

00:02:33 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 4:

The dummy diving to the ground like that, like the floor bursted out, like it was like a trap door, that might have been the dumbest thing ever. And then the woman turning her back, and then the person who was there, which Lydia says was like one of that woman's friends who, I guess, works for the company, too. She got her a job there. she looked like she was like oh god and started kind of laughing and embarrassed i love that

00:02:57 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 5:

tiktok got to the bottom of what he seemed to have said as he was caught in the act and it was effing hell it's me as he realized it was him on there and she says something like this is awkward before she turns around well just in general she says that yeah it uh is interesting how fast the

00:03:17 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 4:

internets go out after people because they were all on his LinkedIn within seconds they got his last name uh then his wife got a lot of people hitting her up on uh you know Instagram and she ended up having to take uh his the married name their married name off of her social media so

00:03:36 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

you guys the memes of this that I saw yesterday of like the photo of the these two guys and it said like cold play hasn't made a single in two years last night they made two right and it was

00:03:50 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 4:

like there were so many good my my favorites that came out that one and then everybody that was declaring themselves uh safe last night from being uh busted at cheating at a oh stop you know how they do the facebook thing where where you have the i like these ones uh there you go Mark safe from being cheated on at a Coldplay concert today. And then what was my favorite? Oh, this one, the Epstein one. Did you see the Jeffrey Epstein? They actually got the picture of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. This could be us, but you're playing. Holding each other, yeah. That's insane, bro. Tell my kids this was taken at a Coldplay concert.

00:04:32 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't blame him for diving to the ground. It's like he never expected to be in that position, to be married. I mean, you out with your girl, so I guess you risk it all. but you don't think you're going to be at a Coldplay concert and the camera is showing you to. He just fumbled at the moment.

00:04:47 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 5:

The odds that it would be them and their situation up for everybody to see.

00:04:53 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 4:

How soon until Inside Edition? Because it's always like that or TMZ gets a hold of the wife and gets her to speak. I mean, she working faster than the lawyers right now. Her name already off Facebook.

00:05:04 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 3:

I know.

00:05:05 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 4:

Them divorce papers in there.

00:05:06 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 3:

So I was thinking this. I was thinking, hey, we should give some tickets to a Coldplay concert. And then I didn't realize, you know, last week it was in Toronto, and a bunch of people from here went to Toronto last weekend to go see that show. So there's not a bunch of shows. They're just doing, like, almost kind of like these stadium tours in select cities, kind of like Beyonce did. So they only have a show, I guess, in Madison, Wisconsin, this weekend at a festival. And then they have Miami next week. We don't have budget to do airline tickets and a hotel. Do you think listeners would want to try to win just a pair of tickets to the show?

00:05:38 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

For sure. Why not?

00:05:40 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

Like, we'll give away a pair of tickets. We'll buy, you know, two tickets to go to a Coldplay show. But this is the part that I think would be interesting. Would they be willing to call out their affair? Wait, wait, what do you mean? People who would be willing to call out that they're having some kind of a thing right now.

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, presents. Oh. Yes. Like, at this very moment. Like, in the midst of it. I'm cheating with somebody.

00:06:01 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I want to take – because it would be like a weekend away with your lover.

00:06:05 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 4:

Could they be voice disguised or no?

00:06:08 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

You got to give them the option.

00:06:11 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think the voice disguised would be good. I think that would be awesome. And then we can do it something – I don't know. Is there something that rhymes with Coldplay? I don't know.

00:06:22 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

You could say like – I don't know because you could try to find the cheap seats. Maybe they're the cheat seats.

00:06:28 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 3:

The Cheat Seats is a great one. Oh, that's an awesome idea. That's actually a great one. Like Coldplay B-Tray, something like that. Maybe like the Coldplay B-Tray.

00:06:40 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

It's like two words. I like the Cheat Seats. You like the Cheat Seats? Yeah.

00:06:44 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 3:

We're going to set you up with the Cheat Seats at the Coldplay concert. By the way, did you see his seats that he had? This guy had a suite.

00:06:53 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 4:

Was that what I thought was like a balcony or something?

00:06:56 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

It was a suite. I think it's at Gillette Stadium, the Patriots Stadium. That's a big one.

00:07:00 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Billion-dollar company CEO. See, this is why everybody want to go back to work. This is why these CEOs want to go back to work so they can see their side. This woman just started working there, by the way. All that work from home still, damn, I'm telling you, they want their side.

00:07:15 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 3:

We got lots of details on this. Really? Yeah. Do we know? By the way. She just started working there like months ago.

00:07:21 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 4:

The HR lady? Yeah.

00:07:23 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because the HR lady, you wonder what their ties were, if they had ties beforehand or they have ties afterwards or something. What's up, Keith? How you doing? I'm pretty good. Good morning. Yeah, what's up, bud? You know, the creepy thing is, did you see the statement that dude came out with for it? I heard part of it. Shannon, will you read that in the dirty, the guy's statement? What was your thoughts on that statement?

00:07:50 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

it was like it was just weird like oh i wasn't i wasn't meant to be put in this situation to be put on camera all of a sudden like he's actually to the concert is he blaming the band now or

00:08:08 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 3:

blaming the yeah is he really basically that's what it said see nah bro you got when you buy those tickets you got to read the terms and conditions i'm sure that's in there yeah Shannon's going to have that coming up.

00:08:19 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

I wasn't going to do it in this dirty because we're just talking about it right now. Or I could just do it.

00:08:24 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Every dirty this has got to be in. This has got to be every dirty. Absolutely. Charlie, what are your thoughts?

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. How are you guys this morning?

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. You got an idea for a contest name?

00:08:36 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

I do. I thought it was funny. Just pop in my head and call it foreplay at Coldplay.

00:08:41 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

That is kind of a little foreplay, isn't it? That's actually pretty good. I'll give you that one. Charlie, what do you do for a living? Are you the CEO of a company?

00:08:51 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

I wish. I'd be rich and be happy.

00:08:53 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

And have somebody to hold. Joanne, hi. You have an idea for us on a name? Hey, good morning.

00:09:00 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 4:

Yes, how about foul play at Coldplay? Oh, that's a great one. That's my favorite so far.

00:09:06 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Joanne, what would you do if you were this guy's wife? Would you cut his nuts off?

00:09:13 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 1:

Maybe.

00:09:13 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

All right, this is the year that Hannah Montana show premiered.

00:10:29 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 2:

I think why people loved Hannah Montana was because Hannah Montana did feel real. And that's because I was under there. And people forgot.

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 3:

Wow, look at the date. Look how long ago that was.

00:10:38 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

And I loved being that character.

00:10:39 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 3:

She was a little kid. Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston starred in the breakup.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:

You're so perfect. Your brother's a pervert. I love this movie.

00:10:45 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

Talk to me about the sexual habits of family members. What about your sister? My sister's been through a lot.

00:10:52 - 00:10:52 | Unknown:

What the f***?

00:10:53 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and the big song. You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Suzy, what year was that?

00:11:07 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 4:

2006. Yeah, Suzy!

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

What gave it away, Suze?

00:11:14 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 4:

I'm such a huge Hannah Montana fan. I knew right when you said Hannah Montana.

00:11:19 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

How old were you in 2006?

00:11:21 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 4:

six um god do the math how old are you now was it that long ago probably about 14 how old are you

00:11:32 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

now what are you what are you right now oh i'm 29 29 years old so 2014 minus i'll see here 2014 14 minus 20, 25 equals carry the one. I'm trying to do the math on this one for you here. Okay. Equals, that was 11 years ago. So isn't it crazy to think that? 11. Why could I not just do the math by looking at the numbers? I don't know, bro. Craziness. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with tickets. You're going to go see Wiz Khalifa and DaBaby. Pine Knob next weekend. Hang on the phone for just one second. Thank you. We'll get you set up. You're welcome. Have a great weekend.

00:12:16 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:12:17 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 3:

Chance for you to win in our summer of cars, cash, and gas. 19 years ago. Did you see the video that Bianca posted yesterday of our contest of me getting in the car? I saw you in the car, yeah. I would like to know who all those people are that keep talking about how big I am. I would like you guys to understand that, yes, I am a big man. That car is actually a very, very comfortable car, but not for a man that is 6'3", 270 pounds. So if you are under that, call 844-MOJO-LIVE. Actually, anybody can be in that thing. Could you imagine if that was my daily car getting in and out of that thing?

00:12:54 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 1:

People were so rude. Like, one person said, you don't even fit.

00:12:58 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 3:

I know. Why would you write that? They were right, though. They were right. But I did sleep in the back seat, so it did feel comfortable. You can see all that on our Instagram and Facebook. It's like Shaq getting into a Kia. You know what? And I think he actually did. They did a pretty good job with that. You and Shaq. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Win a new car. Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30. Wow, Shannon just broke some dirty to me just a moment ago before this dirty about that Coldplay story. She's going to break it to you guys right now. What's going on, Shannon?

00:13:27 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so before I do that, Lydia is asking for 5 at 6.55 contestants.

00:13:32 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Don't ask for it now, though. Are you going to do it on a text or a phone?

00:13:36 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. She just sent me a text saying everybody bailed.

00:13:38 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

Wait, let's wait until, okay, let's wait until after we do get done with this and now solicit for callers, but we're doing a contest now, so it'll confuse our callers.

00:13:45 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so this Coldplay thing, debacle that everybody has been talking about for the past two days, and we were just talking about it, a couple of things. So there's a fake statement going around that the CEO of this company, the guy in the video, Andy Byron is his name supposedly made and the statement said uh you know I what was supposed to be a night of music and joy turned into a deeply personal mistake that played out on a very public stage I want to sincerely apologize to my wife my family the team at astronomer that's his company you deserve better from me as a partner a father and a leader and then he ended this long statement with as a friend once saying lights will guide you home and ignite your bones and I will try to fix guys is that it's not a real no the whole thing is not real um it went around everywhere too a lot of the tabloids were posting it that the company also confirmed he nobody involved in this has made us any sort of statement so oh look at these two all right come on you're okay

00:14:54 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 2:

either they're having an affair or they're just very sharp Also, his wife, not the woman that he was seen with at the concert, his wife very quickly changed her name on Facebook. She was Megan Kerrigan Byron. She switched it to Megan Kerrigan, changed her profile picture to a photo of herself. And I believe her two sons is what it looks like. And then she just altogether deleted all of her social media last name.

00:15:26 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 6:

That doesn't look good for this relationship. At all. Yeah. Man. That's tough.

00:15:29 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 2:

In Other Big Dirty Today, President Donald Trump called to release all pertinent grand jury testimony related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, and it could happen as early as today. So over on his Truth Social account, the president called the Epstein controversy a scam perpetuated by Democrats. He wrote, based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent grand jury testimony subject to court approval. And Pam Bondi said in response, she is ready to move the court to unseal those transcripts today.

00:16:06 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 6:

It may be a long process, though, they're saying.

00:16:08 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 2:

Former Vice President Mike Pence talking about this.

00:16:11 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 1:

I think the time has come for the administration to release all of the files regarding Jeffrey Epstein's investigation and prosecution. It's important that we protect the names of the victims. they should be excluded from any disclosure. But whether or not the facts justify charges, I think that anyone who participated or was associated with this despicable man

00:16:39 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 2:

ought to be held up to public scrutiny. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal also dropped in some dirty. They say there's a letter that exists. It's from 2003, from Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. And the whole letter is kind of inappropriate. Part of it reads, Happy birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret. And then allegedly it looks as though Trump drew the outline of a naked woman, including boobs and private parts. Now the president as well as the vice president are strongly denying the Wall Street Journal's report as well as threatening to file a lawsuit against them. They say that it's totally fake. There was never such a letter. Yeah. And speaking of releasing some top secret information, Zach Bryan's ex-girlfriend, Brianna Chicken Fry, announced she's going to be releasing some behind-the-scenes voice and video clips, including this dramatic fire pit incident from her birthday that she keeps talking about on her BFFs podcast this week. And this clip reportedly captures Zach Bryan berating her friends during a birthday party with Brianna finding her friends in tears afterwards. So we're supposed to be getting that at some point in the next couple of days if you've been still following that story. For all of today's Dirty or Everything, you missed this week. Check out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

00:18:10 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's a hospital.

00:20:13 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 1:

It's Napoleon. It says here you work at a lab for a local nursing home. I do. And you also work at a hospital, too.

00:20:21 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 2:

I work at a lab. Yeah, I work at a lab for a hospital, but we support our local nursing homes by going there and drawing blood for them.

00:20:28 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's nice. That's very, very nice. All right. Well, congratulations on getting through to us. And good luck with Jeff today. Jeff, will you say hi to Mallory?

00:20:38 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 2:

00:22:06 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to pass on that one.

00:22:08 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, all right, fair.

00:22:08 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 1:

All right, and question number five, announced last night, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end next season after a 10-year run on which network?

00:22:22 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 2:

CBS.

00:22:23 - 00:22:26 | Speaker 1:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof.

00:22:26 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mallory, you struggled. You only got two out of five.

00:22:30 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 1:

Mallory, not good. Man, I'm sorry. Jesus Christ, I met some dumb bastards in my time. No, don't do that. Jeff, you got to just beat two, which you've done. Here you go. Question number one. Actress Priyanka Chopra is celebrating her birthday today. Which Jonas brother is she married to? Nick. One to nothing. Question number two. The video of a married bunch of coworkers cheating with each other and getting busted by cameras at a concert for this band has gone viral. Which band? Coldplay. Yes. Two to one. Question number three. This Diamonds singer is the voice of Smurfette in the new Smurfs movie out in theaters today. Who is she? Rihanna.

00:23:17 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Three to one.

00:23:19 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Vegas odds have the Tigers having the best chance of representing the American League in the World Series. What's the name of the venue where the Tigers play their home games? Comerica Park. Yes! 4-1. And question number five, perfect score. Announced last night, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end and be canceled after a 10-year run on which network?

00:23:46 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I just read, I want to say NBC. No. Oh, actually, CBS. You still win, 4-2. Congratulations. Thank you, thank you.

00:23:56 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 1:

You got three. You're coming back next week. We're going to see you again there, Jeff. And we got a prize for Mallory, too. Mallory, we're going to set you up with some checkers, okay? Sounds great. Have a fantastic day. You know what, Mallory? Don't worry about it. It's much harder than it looks playing this game. I know a lot of people, you know, don't necessarily realize that. So, but have a great weekend.

00:24:21 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. You too, Jeff. It's Mojo in the Morning, 5 at 6.55.

00:24:26 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, got a lot to talk about this morning, coming up this hour on the show. So Kev's got a question for the listeners on whether or not he can ask somebody to do something for him. Then I want to talk about AC, Air Conditioning Etiquette. Shannon, he's...

00:25:00 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 2:

not dead, and then the throwback throwdown, all coming up in the next hour on the Mojo in the Morning show. We'll be right back. No, I'm sorry.

00:25:08 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 3:

You're trying to take Stephen Colbert job.

00:25:10 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 2:

Take that one, yeah. But that was a surprise, huh? Yeah. Why is it a surprise? Why do you say that? Why is it a surprise? It's the number one show on late night television. He's got the number one ratings. Is the contract up?

00:25:20 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 1:

They said it was a budget thing.

00:25:22 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that part I didn't get. A lot of people think it's a political thing because CBS just had to pay trump a whole bunch of money wow and they they some people are reading and reading the through the uh the tea leaves or whatever this is they're they're saying that they think that that's the reason i honestly do think though it's late night television and this is just my uh opinion on this one and people will say ah you know yeah of course you think that way i think late night television is not fun anymore it used to be fun when when did you ever see it where they have so many nights where their late-night television doesn't just do, like, funny, goofy bits and have interviews with celebrities. Now I feel like everything is political. Yeah. Like, and they have, like, last night Stephen Colbert, you know, did that, and he had as his main guest on the show Adam Schiff.

00:26:15 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 1:

Who is that? I don't even know who that is.

00:26:16 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Like, he's, well, he's a very, people that are political people know it. You see him on CNN or Fox News all the time. He's a congressman or a senator or something. I don't even know which one he is.

00:26:28 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 1:

But if I'm flipping through the channels, I'm like, I don't even know who that guy is.

00:26:32 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 2:

And Kimmel did the same thing, too. And Jimmy was like one of my best. Jimmy still is a very good guy. He actually sent me a very nice message about the Hall of Fame stuff. But this is something that is kind of interesting that I turn on television. I feel like the only person that doesn't seem to do a crap load of it is Fallon.

00:26:54 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:26:54 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 2:

And I guess his ratings probably hurt for that reason.

00:26:57 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's two things. I feel like for one, I feel like politicians, for lack of a better word, are the new celebrities. Like, I feel like back in the day, he used to be actors. He used to be musicians. That was on the tip of everybody's tongue. That's what everybody was talking about. That's what the tabloids cared about. That's who was on the cover of magazines. Now it is the politicians on the cover of magazines. They're the ones everybody's talking about. So if that's what you're telling me you're talking about, then that's what I'm going to have on my show. I think that's a piece of it. Then the other piece, I feel like it's too many of these damn late night shows. There's a lot. Like you got Fallon, you got Kimmel, you got Colbert, you got Sam Meyer.

00:27:28 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 1:

And it's also streaming. Like if I'm up late, which let's be real, I never really am. But if I happen to be up late, I'm binge watching something else. I'm not tuning in to Stephen Colbert.

00:27:40 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 2:

You know what I watch every night going to bed? Real Housewives. I used to. Who are you turning into? Because I fall asleep. Because that's what Chelsea's choice is. That or Love Island or 90 Day Fiance. Like, those are the shows that I go. Chelsea, I used to watch all those shows at night. I used to watch, like, Letterman. And I'd watch Jimmy Kimmel. Arsenio back in the day. Do you remember Arsenio back in the day? I was too young for that. Arsenio was freaking awesome. That show was great. But you talk about there's too many. There were more back then. There were more back then.

00:28:11 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 3:

I only used to remember Leno and Letterman. When I was growing up, those were like the two. You either watch Letterman or you either watch Leno. At least for my grandmother.

00:28:18 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 1:

And then they threw Conan into the mix.

00:28:20 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Conan? Yeah, back when he was on TBS.

00:28:22 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 2:

And this is going to be interesting because if CBS pulls that off, I wonder what they'll put on at that time because they say that they're not replacing that show. So will they go back to the day in our local TV station here in Detroit used to run Everybody Loves Raymond reruns or something like that?

00:28:36 - 00:28:39 | Speaker 3:

But I'd rather watch that. It'll probably be CSI.

00:28:40 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I love CSI.

00:28:41 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 3:

Every time CSI Miami will come on, NCIS, one of those.

00:28:44 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's always one of those shows. It's either Law & Order, SVU, Chicago Fire, I don't know, something like that.

00:28:51 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

Low-key, I feel like every time I'm out of town in a hotel room and I, like, wake up or something, cut the TV on, it's one of those shows.

00:28:56 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what's funny? And this is just kind of goofy. But I, for some reason, love anything that's on that channel, ION. I don't even know what the hell ION stands for, but I watch it. I gotta Google that. What's going on, Ruba? Hey, about Love Island. Why aren't you watching it, Mojo? So, Chels watches it, and the girls here watch it. I honestly didn't get into it at all. I don't think I got into it fast enough.

00:29:21 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 3:

It's girls in bikinis. Girls that are twerking. Like, what else could you ask for? She ain't lying.

00:29:27 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 2:

I know. Seriously, you would think that that would be perfect for me. Bye. Bye. We'll talk to you later. All right. Mojo in the Morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. Cav wants to know if he could ask his maintenance guy at his apartment complex to do something personal for him. What's that?

00:29:51 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

I want him to come in and build like this shoe cabinet I have. Now, obviously, it has nothing to do with my apartment, so I don't think he's legally.

00:30:00 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 2:

I can't go to my portal and put in a maintenance request and have it be a personal thing. But I bought this. So when you come into my place, I originally wanted to create this meditation, chill zone for myself. And now it's just become the junk room where everything that I didn't have a space for, whether it's my bedroom or my living room or Josiah's room, that's where it all is at, including all of my shoes. So I come in my house, take off my shoes. It's a shoe room. I'm like, you know what? it's time to clean up this place and get it back to what i originally wanted the space to look like so i bought two shoe cabinets on amazon and when they came first off they was heavy as hell so i already knew this was a lot more than i bargained for and then when i open it up pull out the little sheet it's like 12 13 steps of instructions to do i'm like hell no i didn't sign up for this so in my mind i'm like all right bet i see the little maintenance man walking by maybe they can do it i don't want it to become a situational where i get in trouble or they get in trouble but i feel like a maintenance man they know how to build just come throw this up for me

00:31:03 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 3:

so are you thinking that you could ask him to do it and not give the guy a little extra money

00:31:07 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 2:

are you thinking give him extra money of course yeah i want to throw him some money so i think

00:31:11 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 3:

that you can ask him and do it on the side but you can't do it through the app because you do it through the app that then they now know he's doing side hustle right you can't do it like that Yeah, I don't think so.

00:31:21 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 1:

He probably welcomed the extra cash.

00:31:24 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 2:

Do he have to come after hours then? Or how does that work?

00:31:27 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 1:

That's on him.

00:31:29 - 00:31:51 | Speaker 3:

So I would do this, and Joe does this at his apartment. So Joe will actually, he befriended the guy. I think his name was Carlos. Okay. And he befriended the guy, and he said, hey, will you do this for me? and he would actually offer him money or he would have his fiancee or Chelsea, if she was down visiting, make some food for the guy.

00:31:51 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 2:

So what I've been doing lately, because they're like painting other apartments that they're trying to get ready to sell for people to come in. Since it's been hot out, this has happened on three separate occasions. I've walked by, said hello, went into my place and then brought them back ice cold waters.

00:32:07 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 3:

So I'm trying to like plant little seeds. That's a given though. You got to offer that to those guys.

00:32:13 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 2:

They're not doing my place.

00:32:14 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're doing another place. Yeah, they're paying other people's stuff. I was going to say, if you do it in your, if they're in your house, if somebody's coming to fix your house, don't you think you have to offer them something to drink or eat?

00:32:24 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I always do.

00:32:25 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 3:

Water's bare minimum.

00:32:26 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 1:

Not necessarily eat all the time. It depends on how long they're there. But I always offer them something to drink.

00:32:31 - 00:32:33 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had one of them ask you for something?

00:32:34 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 1:

There was one guy I had who talked so much, I finally ordered him food, pizza, so he would shut up. Honest to God.

00:32:41 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 3:

up your face. We had that story I told on the air about the guy that came and fixed my washer and dryer, and the guy saw the food on the counter, and he goes, oh, man, that looks good. And next thing I know, I'm making a plate. The guy's eating a plate of the food.

00:32:53 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 1:

No, I had this guy at my house doing some work, and Jay Towers had recommended him to me, and I finally texted Jay and was like, Jay, the guy will not stop talking to me. And he goes, I always order him pizza, and that way he's occupied, and so that's what I did.

00:33:07 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 2:

He didn't tell you that part, though. Hey, Amanda. Find it out for yourself.

00:33:11 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Amanda?

00:33:11 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:33:14 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 5:

Kev, if you would have just made like a PTA to everyone on the radio, I'm sure you would have found people to assemble your furniture. I did everything in my own home.

00:33:23 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 2:

So you're saying I need to call you?

00:33:26 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 5:

I would do it. Yeah, it's easy. I put up a shoe cabinet.

00:33:30 - 00:33:33 | Speaker 3:

Would you feel comfortable, though, with a random listener coming over to your place?

00:33:33 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 2:

This may sound crazy, but if it was a woman, yeah, for sure.

00:33:36 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Really? But a guy you would not? No, I might have a few times. See, can I tell you something, Amanda? I would be the opposite. I would rather have a dude come to my house than a woman because I just don't want it to be a situation where they think, you know, I'm Hank Wintrest or something. She's offering it. I don't want to do that.

00:33:53 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 2:

Help me mojo.

00:33:53 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 1:

Have you heard of the Thumbtack app? No, what's that? It's like you can go on there and find people to like handy men and women that'll do stuff. Like anything you need done on there, like legit stuff, not sexual favors is on this. Clarify. Like, really, everything on there.

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 3:

Aren't there a bunch of those type apps?

00:34:14 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah.

00:34:15 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 3:

What was the other one? There's another one, too, that you can go on there and you can bid out jobs, like jobs at your house. What's going on, Brian? How you doing?

00:34:24 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you today?

00:34:26 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic.

00:34:27 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 4:

So, I own a small moving service, and this is one of the things that we do. A lot of people don't realize moving companies do installation and stuff like that. Lydia has my number. If Kevin can't find anybody else to do it, we'd be happy to work something out. Sweet.

00:34:46 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 3:

Cool. You don't sound like a woman, though. He only said he wants a woman.

00:34:50 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 4:

You can't make it sound like that. All I'm willing to do is build a new Kevin. Yeah.

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Anything at all at all or no? Nothing?

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 1:

No, nothing beyond that. That's it.

00:35:03 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right. That would be kind of wild, wouldn't it, though? Like, what other, what's some of the craziest work somebody's ever hired you for?

00:35:11 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we, I mean, you name it, we've probably moved it, especially if it's in somebody's house. Yeah. And then, you know, the things you find in people's homes, we can't talk about on the radio.

00:35:25 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 3:

My buddy, Brad, does appliance repair, and I say to him, I go, what's the worst thing about going into people's homes? He says, not the dogs, it's the smells.

00:35:33 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 4:

The smell. Oh, I can imagine.

00:35:34 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 3:

He says, people don't realize how bad their house smells sometimes. Nose blind.

00:35:38 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Sometimes the odor in people's homes is pretty bad, especially if they don't have, like, humidity control and whatnot in their home. They just don't realize it, and it's bad. we've actually had to walk out of people's houses because of the smells and cleanliness.

00:35:58 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I could see where that would be tough. I think Brian's a great option. I would definitely establish a relationship with your maintenance guy because I'm telling you, that's the guy that when you do move out of that place, he's going to be the guy that will overlook anything if he knows that you're a good guy.

00:36:11 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 4:

Wow, he didn't even think about that.

00:36:13 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so think about something.

00:36:14 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 2:

You know Kev. Hey, Kev knows. He always dresses classy. He's sometimes sassy and secretly smart-assy. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:36:23 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 3:

We're going to announce this contest coming up this morning right after the Dirty for Coldplay. This is really good. Did you put it yet up on social yet, or is it going to be when I announce it?

00:36:38 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 4:

Yep, it's there.

00:36:39 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 3:

It is up there? Kevin, did you see it yet?

00:36:41 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 4:

No. Where is it at?

00:36:42 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 3:

All right, go take a look at this, because I wanted you to actually enjoy this more than anybody. Cheat away at Coldplay. your chance to confess on the air to your affair and win tickets to go see Coldplay in Miami. Look at the cheat-away picture.

00:36:58 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Y'all got to relax, bro. Y'all got to relax, bro.

00:37:04 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm embracing my lover, the one that I'm cheating on Chelsea with, that is probably the only person that Chelsea would allow me to.

00:37:13 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 4:

It should have been Santa. It would have looked better. No.

00:37:16 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 3:

It has to be somebody that I honestly look at as I can. Like, Shannon's got nothing to squeeze on to. Look at you. I can squeeze on to you. You like a little something to hold? I like, you know, it's like, seriously, this is, I'm trying to look for somebody that gives me a good squeeze, and you do, Kevin. Look at that. Kevin, by the way, Kevin is going to call his attorney. He's going to have us sued for copyright infringement on a picture.

00:37:44 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 4:

Whoever Trump's hired, I'm getting that guy.

00:37:46 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

All right. So here's the story. At 740, we're going to start taking calls. If you have a cheating story, like if you're having an affair and you want to be voice disguised, but to try to win tickets for this, you're going to have to tell us about who the affair is with. Not obviously names, not first and last names, but maybe how you met them. And then we'll put you into the running to win a pair of tickets to go see Coldplay. Here's the story with this. It's going to be either the pair of tickets to go see Coldplay or the equivalent of $1,000. You can win the cash, which would be great, right? This is perfect.

00:38:20 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 4:

If I was cheating with somebody, I'd call there. You would? Yeah, why not? You would out yourself? I would ask to be voice disguise, obviously.

00:38:27 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 3:

But, I mean, the voice disguise still, though.

00:38:31 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 4:

Or the thing is, if you're listening through the iHeartRadio app, you could be anywhere in the world.

00:38:36 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:38:36 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean?

00:38:38 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 4:

That's so risky.

00:38:40 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Actually, any of our listeners down in Florida, this might be even better because the show's in Miami. We do have a lot of listeners in Florida, too. Yeah. All right, so cheat away with Coldplay after the dirty here this morning. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. I want to talk about something that honestly doesn't pertain to what today's weather is like because today's actually kind of nice. They're saying that the temperatures are going to be great, but the last month has been some of the hottest, stickiest weather that I have experienced in a long time. I mean, I'm telling you, it felt like you were going outside and you were in a sauna a couple of the days over the last week and a half to three weeks. And I am one of those people where I go from air conditioning to air conditioning unless I go to our friend Ted's house. And so Ted and Alyssa are two of the people that Chelsea and I know. And Ted and Alyssa are people that we don't necessarily go all the time to their home. I got permission from them that I can talk about this. Because when we were over at their house, I said, hey, is your air conditioning out? And he's like, no, it's actually fine. Why? Do you feel warm? And I looked, oh, no, everything's okay. We're there. This is like a week or two weeks ago. We're there at their house. I am not kidding you. A couple minutes later, I can start seeing beads of sweat pop up on my forehead. Then, after being there for just a little period of time, I'm wearing a blue shirt.

00:40:00 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 1:

kind of similar to the shirt right now, I start seeing the armpit. What do they call those things? Like a stain underneath the arm? The armpit stain starting to appear underneath my arm. And I'm going, how is everybody not hot? Now, I look over at Chelsea. Now, Chelsea is constantly cold. She's loving every minute of this. And I'm going, what is happening? So I get up to go to the bathroom, walk over. The thermostat is standing right there by the bathroom in their hallway. Look at the thermostat. It's 74 degrees. I don't know about you guys. 74 degrees is outdoor temp. Like, I mean, am I wrong in saying that? 74 degrees? That's a nice day outside. 74 degrees is San Diego. It's gorgeous. Yeah, I would stand outside.

00:40:43 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 4:

Not when it's 90 degrees outside.

00:40:45 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 1:

How about 74 degrees as the temperature in the house with no breeze going by other than when their kids are running all over the place and running past you?

00:40:54 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 4:

So did you take it upon yourself to change the thermostat? You can't do that.

00:40:58 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 1:

I did not. I came back in and bitched, and that's where the conversation came into play. So we got into an argument of the ultimate temperature that you should have your house set at. And I said, you know, we talked about this in the wintertime with how people don't put the heat on. And I don't understand this, and I know that, you know, it gets expensive. But at some point, if you're keeping your home at 74 degrees, it ain't staying cool, right?

00:41:22 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 3:

Listen, if you come in my apartment, when I go home today, the air will still be on. Right. My air is in between like 60 and 65 degrees. Holy crap. That's way too cold. I like hoodies on, hoodies and shorts. I like my covers bundled up. What's your bill?

00:41:35 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 1:

What's the bill?

00:41:36 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 3:

It's cheap. The last bill I paid was like $60. No, the last one I paid was like $90.

00:41:40 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 1:

You must have a great setup at your apartment that's allowing you to do that. It's blowing. I like cold air. See, I keep mine at like 68 or 69 degrees. Like I keep it kind of that.

00:41:50 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 4:

That's what I do for my bedroom.

00:41:51 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea wants 70 degrees.

00:41:53 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:41:54 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 1:

And to me, 70 is just way too hot.

00:41:55 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 4:

My downstairs is at 70, usually. Really?

00:41:58 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

My downstairs is at 60-something because I don't even have to turn. I don't know. Maybe it's like so low in the ground. But I have my air conditioning in the basement set so high because the temperature always stays consistently like 67.

00:42:10 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Y'all get different air on different levels? Yes. Yeah.

00:42:14 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 1:

My basement's always cooler. like when we lose power we all go to the basement and pull up you know uh a blanket and a pillow or

00:42:21 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 4:

something like that now growing up and my parents were are but were divorced when i was younger and so we would spend you know every other weekend at my dad's and he didn't have air conditioning and then once he actually got it he would never put it on yeah and so i can remember trying to sleep at his house and it would be a 90 degree day and oh my i could never sleep and we would always say dad like you either need to get air conditioning or once he got it put the air on and he would say sweating's good for you it's good for you oh my god it has to be that generation

00:42:53 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 1:

because my dad was the same way now my dad was from cuba so everything to him was like it was normal yeah that was like they didn't have that stuff there was a third world country for god's sakes but i will tell you this if i walk into a business and the business is hot i leave i won't spend any money i've been to restaurants there used to be this there used to be this restaurant that was by our house um god what the hell was it called it was something it served like it is perfect for the temperature no it served it served smoothies smoothies and like uh it was lola lola something or another it was in west bloomfield i think it closed down probably because people sweated themselves to death uh they didn't have air conditioning lola organic it was all organic organic organic organic and so they were the owners were listeners yeah i remember them calling it i loved the food i had to eventually start door dashing it because it was so hot when i would sit inside that place i would walk out of that place thinking either it was the spiciness of the food or it was me sweating my ass off uh and i don't know how you guys are with going to hotels or you know uh vacations when i go into a hotel the immediacy of me turning that thing down to as low as it possibly goes the poor lady who's coming to make the beds and clean the room is probably freezing her butt off what's up Ashley how you doing good how are you I'm doing okay Ashley am I crazy and saying that I won't go to Ted's house anymore because it's so damn hot

00:44:18 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't know my parents have their thermostat set on 76 oh my god the last year I've been living with them and it is miserable so at least 74 is better now do you pay them rent not currently no and I'm moving out in two weeks.

00:44:39 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, that's the reason why you can't bitch about it. If you were paying them any money for rent, you could easily bitch about that.

00:44:45 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 3:

No, you can't. They steal your parents.

00:44:47 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 1:

No, you got to say something.

00:44:48 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 4:

But you're part owner at that point. No, your name ain't on the lease.

00:44:52 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

You got to, this is one of those ones where you as a, you know, as a home renter, as an air...

00:45:00 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 6:

beer in your own parents' house need to have that opportunity to go say, hey, come on, we're dying in here. It's no such thing. Your poor parents must have amazingly horrible circulation in their bodies that they're having it set at 76. They got them Trump ankles. Exactly. It's swelling. It's swelling all the way up.

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 3:

He's up with his ankles. That diet coat.

00:45:20 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 6:

It's crazy.

00:45:20 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 3:

Ankles.

00:45:21 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 6:

Man.

00:45:22 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 3:

Can my daughter say hi?

00:45:25 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 6:

Is she okay? Let me ask her a couple questions about her grandparents.

00:45:28 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 3:

Put her on. Don't hesitate. Hello.

00:45:31 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 6:

Hey. Are you sweaty when you're at your parents' grandparents' house? No. You don't sweat a lot when you're at Nana and Papa's?

00:45:42 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:45:43 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 6:

No? Okay. All right. We'll talk to you later, kid. See ya. Bye, guys. Dustin, what's going on? Hi, Dustin.

00:45:54 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

00:45:55 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 6:

What's up, buddy?

00:45:56 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 4:

I couldn't hear you for a second. Um, so next week with the heat index, it's supposed to be a hundred plus where I'm at. I don't know about you guys. Where are you at? I'm in Finley, Ohio.

00:46:08 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 6:

Wow. It's going to be a hot one, huh? I thought that we were supposed to be decent until maybe mid or end of the week, but okay. What do you put your temperature at then?

00:46:16 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 4:

Uh, my thing is, is if you put it at 70, what's 74? Four degrees is not that big of a difference. Dude, you're kidding me. I don't know about that. But I put mine at 68.

00:46:27 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 6:

so okay that's a perfect temperature but you're wrong though yeah 70 to 74 with a guy that you know virtually is 300 pounds i'm 270 pounds that is very very very hot you understand that i get under boob sweat it looks like a smiley face on my body and you should see where the smile is it's right out of my big old any belly button here right i would definitely go in there and turn

00:46:55 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 4:

that thing down and say, why do we have this set on hell? I know. I said, let's

00:46:58 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 6:

go outside. Yeah. Becky, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi, Becky. Hi. What's up?

00:47:11 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 3:

Nothing. I keep my I keep my thermostat at 78 in the summer. 78, bro. Is it real hot in your house? No. I just have a one, like a one three bedroom ramp. Yeah.

00:47:25 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 6:

Are you growing marijuana in your basement?

00:47:29 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 3:

No, I am not.

00:47:31 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 6:

Okay, you don't have weird, like, purple lights on in the basement there?

00:47:35 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

No. No, I do have low circulation in my body, though.

00:47:40 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. That's what I need. You need low circulation. I need low circulation.

00:47:45 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 3:

Diet Cokes, they got you.

00:47:45 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you. Cindy, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:47:50 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how are you?

00:47:51 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 6:

I'm hot, Cindy.

00:47:52 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

even talking about this is making me sweat no honestly we live on the lake and i don't let the kids turn on the ac on whatsoever i'm like you guys are privileged to be on the lake go put

00:48:07 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 6:

yourself in the water if you can't afford to live rich on a lake you shouldn't live on a lake like that is crazy that you don't let the kids turn the air conditioning on we just

00:48:18 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 2:

fill the house believe it or not like i work in ac all day so the last thing i want to be in is an ac do you guys do you get cool breezes off that lake sometimes like the other day though it was like 85 degrees in the house my husband walked in he's like why is it so hot here i'm like i'm

00:48:36 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 6:

working oh my god 85 degrees in your house i don't care if you've got the ocean out in front

00:48:43 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 2:

of your house i don't even like how many showers do you guys take a day i swear to god like we have temperature control rooms so upstairs the kids can do whatever they want just downstairs i won't

00:48:56 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 6:

allow them wow your kids are drowning themselves in the lake right now just try to stay cool that's

00:49:01 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

horrible unreal they're not they they are privileged kids you know that so don't worry

00:49:07 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 6:

about it you're you are very privileged when your parents put the air conditioning on you're not They're privileged when the house is 85 degrees.

00:49:16 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 2:

So I would say that they're privileged because you know what? A lot of people don't live on the lake. So I'm like, go jump in the water.

00:49:22 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 6:

Go jump in the water. Go jump in the lake. That's what you got to say. She don't let them shower either. She's doing like shaming kids. Just go outside and swim. Right. Amazing.

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:53:26 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, what do you got in this hour's dirty?

00:53:27 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 2:

There's so much fallout, so much to talk about regarding the Coldplay teeters, the video that busted Andy Byron, CEO of the tech firm Astronomer, and his company's HR chief, or chief of people, I think is her official title, Kristen Cabot.

00:53:43 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, look at these two. All right. Come on. You're okay. Oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shocked. That's so great.

00:53:55 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

So this guy's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, reportedly removed her last name from her social media before just altogether deactivating all of her accounts. poor thing. Andy Byron and Kristen Cabot, the cheaters quietly scrubbed any details related to their connection with one another from their linked ins. And we're getting some more information about them too. This CEO was raving about his mistress just months before being caught on that Coldplay kiss cam and she was bragging about how she wins the trusts of CEOs on her LinkedIn in certain posts so as people were going back and seeing these things I think that's what prompted them to delete like all evidence so you know anything that could possibly be taken from their social media and also we talked about this in last hours dirty if you saw the apology statement going around from this CEO, it's been debunked. It's fake. It's not a real.

00:55:00 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 4:

apology i'm gonna tell you something these guys if late night television stephen colbert wants to stay on television get them as your interview if you could get they're not gonna talk if you can get them as a couple and then have chris martin do something with them it's gonna it's gonna be the gold that is honestly that that's the get of gets right there right now for sure yeah so this is this is really good in a matter of moments we've got a chance for you to win cold play tickets and we'll tell you how cheaters are going to get rewarded this morning. Maybe they'll call us. Wouldn't that be great? Another show. I want to talk to our best friend. Going to Miami would be like the next thing for these guys.

00:55:38 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 5:

To the girl who got busted, cheating's best friend who was right there. Yes, that's what I would tell you. And, oh, I forgot to say this. So this girl, excuse me, just got hired eight months ago, I think, is what it said in her LinkedIn before she started deleting stuff. No, the Kristen Cabot. This girl just got hired. She just started working at this company eight, like eight and a half months ago. And that girl that was with her that had that really surprised look on her face and then started laughing is her friend who she hired at the company as well. Jeez. Yeah. CBS has officially announced that the Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end in May of next year. They say it was a financial decision pointing to rising production costs and declining viewership as the motivation behind that decision.

00:56:21 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 2:

Before we start the show, I want to let you know something that I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending The Late Show in May. And. Yeah, I share your feelings. It's not just the end of our show, but it's the end of The Late Show on CBS. I'm not being replaced. This is all just going away.

00:56:50 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 5:

That cancellation, by the way, following other late night cuts over at CBS, including the show After Midnight and the late, late show. So they're kind of shifting a lot of their focus from what I can see to digital platforms. And I don't know what they're going to replace him with.

00:57:07 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 4:

A lot of people are rumoring that they're going to go younger with stuff. But then yesterday I saw in the news another big development when it comes to the world of television. Fox Sports made a big play with getting barstool sports to combine with them. And now their college football show that they do, which goes up against College Game Day on ESPN, is going to have Dave Portnoy as one of their contributors, like Pat McAfee is on ESPN. And they're going to have all the barstool people with them. So they're combining both of those together. And I think what's happening is a lot of these networks, these television networks, struggling a little bit. They have some salaries that are pretty expensive and it costs a lot of money to do those shows. They have lots of staff that do them. And I think that they're saying, hey, these streaming platform shows are making a way more of an impact and bigger profit. Yeah. So they're going to start picking and choosing some of these guys. So I would bet you might see some of the podcasters of this world possibly getting their own shows coming to some of these late night TVs networks. If you can't beat them, join them. Could you imagine if it's like a Shane Gillis or something like that?

00:58:20 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 5:

The Call Her Daddy joint. I was going to say, or Alex Cooper.

00:58:23 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 4:

I saw, what's his name the other day? I saw that Rogan's no longer the number one podcaster anymore. It's the guy that's the comedian that was at the Donald Trump thing at Madison Square Garden is now the number one podcaster. Oh, I don't know his name. I know who you're talking about. But what is it? Something, you know what I'm talking about, Lydia?

00:58:42 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 3:

Zack, do you know?

00:58:43 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 4:

Lemonade. The guy that.

00:58:45 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Pricupine.

00:58:46 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 4:

No, he's got a great name to his thing.

00:58:50 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 5:

Jersey Mike's. Somebody text us. What are you doing? I'm trying to help. He doesn't. No, but when you do that. You're tired of nuts when you do that.

00:58:57 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

No, when you do that, it makes me start thinking of Jersey Mike's.

00:59:00 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 5:

Now I'm like, oh, I want a number 39. Yeah, Mike and I. Seriously. All right. What is happening with President Trump's ankles? They look like yours, Kev.

00:59:11 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 1:

They're swollen and causing for some concern. The White House addressing the pictures of President Trump that have been raising questions and concerns online. The president with bruises on his hands and swelling in his legs. In the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician with all of you today. The president's doctor saying several ultrasounds revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition. Doctors tell us it means there isn't adequate blood flow to the veins in the legs, which can cause swelling.

00:59:43 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 3:

Essentially, this is a problem with the blood vessels, more specifically a problem with the veins that are in charge of returning blood back to the heart.

00:59:50 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 1:

The president's condition is common among seniors. It's most often seen in the legs, but can sometimes present in the arms. Though it's not considered serious, it can be painful. The White House says Trump himself is not in any pain.

01:00:03 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 3:

Nope, no discomfort from the president at all. And you probably all see that on a day-to-day basis. He's working around the clock.

01:00:09 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 1:

As for those bruises on the president's hands, which he's been covering with makeup, the White House doctor calls them consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.

01:00:21 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 3:

The president remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here.

01:00:27 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 6:

man looks not fun you know what's interesting is when i was going through like my uh heart stuff you would have to worry about that about circulation and things and um thank god i got great doctors at michigan medicine but this is definitely an older thing but it doesn't look

01:00:44 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 4:

good when you're you see how swollen he is yeah i mean it's truly like knee to foot is the same ball. Like a Stanley.

01:00:55 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 6:

Like a like Kev as she said.

01:00:58 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 5:

It does remind me of your ankles. Let me see your ankles right now. Let me see. Yeah it does. Look at them! Actually they look a little slimmer than normal today. That's bone on bone. By the way

01:01:09 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 6:

the answer to the number one podcaster right now is the Kill Tony podcast. That's what it was? Hinge Cliff is the answer.

01:01:17 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 5:

And lastly if you stop I don't have to. I can talk fast. My bed ran out. Okay, let me talk really fast. No, no, no, I got another bed. Crypto the Superdog from the new Superman movie, Kev, that you saw and raked about. Yes, incredible. Has quickly become a real world hero. In just one week since the movie's release, Google searches for people wanting to adopt a dog surged by 513%. And there's been a 299% spike in adopt a schnauzer, which I guess crypto is a schnauzer and terrier mix or something like that. So, hopefully, lots of dogs are getting adopted thanks to a character in, yeah, one of the top movies right now. Good morning.

01:03:57 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 6:

We've got Amy. She made pot brownies. Remember, the dog ate them and sat under the Christmas tree for three days. That was a great story. Thank God the dog was okay from that, but unfortunately, the dog is in doggy heaven right now. We've got Cassandra. First time getting high, Cassandra. How you doing?

01:04:17 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing great.

01:04:18 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 6:

You did something crazy. You super glued your eyelids thinking they were eye drops, Vaseline eye drops.

01:04:26 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 2:

Sure did.

01:04:27 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 6:

Nice to have you here with us. And then we've got Greg, who is out on parole for being in prison. And he jumped off a second-story window, right out the window, thinking that the cops, if they caught him, were going to put him back in the slammer. The guy survived that, but your girl didn't, right, Greg? Am I understanding? Yep, yep. Well, yeah, it was an old girl at the time, but, yeah, she got her arm broke. Oh, my God.

01:04:55 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 5:

She got her arm broke.

01:04:56 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. She actually called her boyfriend, and he came in.

01:05:00 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 1:

pick her up on his 10-speed, because I wasn't going to mention that. That was a good one. And last but not least, one of our first ones here, Jordan got so high, he named his kid after Wiz Khalifa. What's up, Jordan? Taylor Gang, what's up? Good morning. All right, so all of you guys are with us right now. All of you guys are up for this thing. Which one of you guys is high right now? Any of you guys high at this moment? Me neither. Of course they are. Listen to these guys. Look at these guys. Oh, my God. Do any of you guys ever, like, do you guys ever have a moment?

01:05:36 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

You can never be sober at work. Come on now.

01:05:39 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 1:

But do you ever, like, take, like, I don't know, sober October or anything like that?

01:05:49 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:05:50 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 1:

You're probably going to go running. Yeah. You're not going to sleep. All right. So the prize, and Lydia, correct me if I'm wrong, a pair of tickets to go to Wiz Khalifa and DaBaby and then a meet and greet with Wiz Khalifa. Yes, sir. This is huge, man. This is a big one. The winner of this contest. From the computer, it's like bouncing around, the lights bouncing around on here. The winner of this contest. Cassandra Cushentell. Cassandra!

01:06:18 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 2:

Congrats!

01:06:22 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 1:

Wait, I thought you were getting chirped, but they were actually saying congrats. That's actually kind of nice. Cassandra

01:06:28 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 2:

That is really nice. Thank you, guys. And I'm so freaking stoked. Oh, my God.

01:06:36 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Cassandra is the one that super glued her eyelids together. Cassandra, congratulations to you.

01:06:42 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 2:

It's all worth it.

01:06:43 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Wait to call my mom. You can't wait to call your mom. Mom, you're never going to believe this. Cassandra, do you have somebody that you're going to bring with, or is there any way that you will take Greg, the guy on parole that jumps out windows?

01:06:56 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 2:

i'm actually married and my husband loves the whiz and the baby so we are having a date night together i'm excellent i literally i'm so excited guys thank you so much have the best time

01:07:08 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

congratulations to you all the rest of you i hope that you guys have a very fun day it sounds to me like you're already having it enjoy yourself i appreciate it mojo it was my birthday yesterday by the way happy birthday appreciate you man have a great one appreciate it all right it's mojo on the morning show this story is so amazing and I don't know what it is that makes us love this story so much because honestly it's heartbreaking for two families the thing that bums me out the most about this is that we see these two and we look at the you know fact that they were cheating with each other and we kind of forget the fact that they probably both have you know I know they of spouses but they might probably have kids too yeah and you feel bad for these kids yeah but i don't know the kids so you know what the heck um they were at a cold play concert together ceo of a company what's his name again we gotta say their names i gotta say byron andy byron and what was the the woman's name that he was with kristen cabot and they both worked together he was her boss she was actually hr which is crazy they went to the cold play concert which was at gillette Stadium, just outside Boston there where the New England Patriots play and they do a thing where they show people up on the big camera and they say hello to them. They show these two and it was this circular picture of him, arms around her. You know what's funny? I don't even do that with my wife all the time. I put my arms around her like that. I want to do that tonight with her. You should. Chelsea, I'm going to get right behind you there and give you a big old squeeze. Call it the Coldplay. And they get called out on the kiss cam thing up on the camera.

01:08:53 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, look at these two. All right. Come on. You're okay? Uh-oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very sharp.

01:09:07 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 1:

The way that she dove, or he dove, was amazing. Both of them. And then, well, she turned right away, which was probably the smarter move. But he dove, which made him look more guilty than he was. For sure. He got out of there quick. You can instantly tell something was wrong. Don't you think if he just kept holding her, nobody would have gone viral with this moment? They probably would have switched the camera quicker. Yeah. The fact that they dove made it like a thing where we got to stay on them. Yep. So this has led us now to the contest that we want to do here. So Mojo in the Morning Show, our phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We're doing a contest, and shout out to our listener that gave us this name. Cheat away at Coldplay. We got a pair of tickets to go see Coldplay, and their last show in the U.S. is in Miami. Now, we couldn't pin it. together to pull a foot a full trip together so we decided to do was we'll get a pair of tickets for you or we'll give you the cash equivalent of a thousand dollars if you're willing to call us up and tell us your cheating story and i think that it would be more fun if the stories were going on right now because i want to see you take your your lover there i want you to bring the human resources director with you that's wrong how do human resources directors not realize that that's

01:10:30 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

a bad play they need love too honestly like if you're they're probably the ones that get away with it the most because you don't think that hr is going to break an hr rule so nobody's watching

01:10:41 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 1:

them that is so true it's kind of like a a cop speeding you know what i mean like cops can get away with the speeding facts i i never thought about that because most of the human resources people that we had back in the day when we didn't have like human resources in another state they all did not seem like the type of people that ever had sex facts yeah i would agree right i mean they were all nice people yes but they seem like they seemed very much like they were all business

01:11:07 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 2:

telly very vanilla very yeah in their little cubicles eating their little homemade sandwiches

01:11:12 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 1:

and no they had offices in our in our big ones in our old ones their old building they had they didn't have cubicles they had offices because they had to go in there and they had to talk about you they needed four walls and a door and you'd walk if you got called into that room you hoped it was for benefits information you didn't hope that they were going to yell at you about something or that was potentially the last day that you were going to be working there

01:11:34 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 2:

I don't have been in a few at all

01:11:35 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 1:

it's the worst 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 we're going to throughout the morning take your calls if you have a story for us you can tell it on a voice disguiser so we do have a voice disguiser and I'll set that up right now. Lydia, you think anybody will call us up and try to do this? Or is this contest going to be one of those ones where we're going to be sitting all morning realizing that we have smart listeners that don't want to be called out?

01:12:03 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 3:

I have high hopes we'll get a couple.

01:12:05 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 2:

I think people will initially be frightened and scared, but I think it only takes one to get the domino rolling and then they'll be like, okay, it's not so bad.

01:12:14 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 1:

That's what I'm hoping. I mean, War of the Roses, every single week, we all are voyeurs listening to other people's stories. Now we actually just basically have them admitting to the fact that they're doing this.

01:12:23 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 2:

I also feel like if I was this guy, this CEO person, that if I'm going to cheat, I don't think I would go to a concert. Really? Like, that's just too public of a thing.

01:12:34 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 1:

Like the roadside motel?

01:12:36 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like, I feel like it's got to be in a town people don't recognize me. Like, I don't need to run into anybody.

01:12:41 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't think this guy was trying very hard to be that discreet because you have to, I mean, you can see in the clip, there's somebody that he works with as well that is there with them that is very knowing that something is going on. Like they're, you know, smooching each other right in front of this other employee of his.

01:13:00 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

We found out that that person is her friend. So I think she got married.

01:13:04 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 3:

Who I believe also works for the company.

01:13:06 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. She already knew what was going on. You know, with, like, looking at the whole concert thing, and I'm kind of searching online with this. By the way, it's my algorithm now. Did you notice that? Once you start looking at, like, one, you get them all. So I'm getting anything Coldplay right now. The comments from some of the people that have posted things about this, some of them have been really, really interesting, and their takes have been very, very interesting. A lot of people are commenting about how if you look closely that this woman's got jewelry on her finger that looks like it's, like, really nice jewelry. Like, and she's maybe possibly got it from this guy. And then people are commenting on the friend. Like, do you guys follow crazy bitches or crazy bitch problems? Crazy bitch problems on Instagram is the greatest thing.

01:13:54 - 01:13:55 | Speaker 2:

Do you follow that?

01:13:55 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they have one where they have a close-up of the friend, and it says, the messy friend loving every minute of it. She's so ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. And then, what is the other one? Somebody else wrote on one of these other ones. Viva la cheating. Viva.

01:14:15 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Also, by the way, talking about Coldplay lyrics, this statement that went around yesterday and everyone's like, okay, he released a statement apologizing for, you know, his actions and just wants privacy. I'm like, y'all, who thought it was real? He ended it with the lyrics of Fix You.

01:14:29 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 2:

How did you think that that was real? Makes sense. He's just doubling down.

01:14:34 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

As a good friend says, it was like the lyrics of Fixio. Why would you do that?

01:14:39 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 1:

I like this one. I like somebody actually on a Lions, one of those Lions sites that I do go to a lot where people have like Lion News. It shows the guy in the background, the guy that's cheating, and it says Lions Offensive Lineman. And then it shows her defenders trying to get to golf, which is great. They have a whole bunch of these ones.

01:15:02 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 2:

The memes are creative. She's looking, the lady that's being held, like they show a guy before they flip the camera to them, and her lips literally say, that's cool. As she's reacting to the other guy being shown on camera, different reaction when you're on it.

01:15:17 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:15:19 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 2:

Who are the two bananas in the audience that are shown after these two? Did you see that? There's like a kid jumping up and down, and then there's two people in banana outfits.

01:15:26 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. The one kid in the back, if you look at it. There's so much to this. The one kid that jumps up with his arms up in the air, look at it. He looks like Luke, my son.

01:15:33 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 2:

Does he? Oh, yeah.

01:15:34 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 1:

Tony Travato called it out yesterday on a text message to me. He goes, is that Luke? Was he at the concert? All right. I think we got our first one. Uh-oh. So let's see. Let's see what we got. And we'll do this through the morning here, and we'll see how these stories go. But it's Coldplay, and the tickets, a pair of tickets or a $1,000 equivalent to go see Coldplay, the show will be in Miami, and it's a contest called Cheat Away at Coldplay. Your voice disguised, B? Yeah. Hey, B, you are currently cheating on your guy?

01:16:14 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Is it on your husband?

01:16:18 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, let's hear. Who is the guy that you're cheating with?

01:16:22 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 4:

He's a guy, I just know, from back in the day, the neighborhood, we both got out, got a successful career, bumped into each other. One thing after another, we're seeing each other, hanging out, doing things. And I am an HR director.

01:16:46 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. No, I didn't realize that this is something that you would even think about doing that. Although it's not somebody you work with, so I guess it's okay, right?

01:16:55 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we used to work together, but not anymore.

01:16:59 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever cheated with, I'm assuming if you're cheating now with this guy, you've cheated before, right?

01:17:06 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:17:06 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay, this is your first time cheating. Okay. I was going to ask, have you ever cheated with somebody that you worked with? Because I find it amazing that this woman that was cheating with the guy at the Coldplay concert, that she doesn't understand that if it gets exposed, she's probably never getting another HR job ever again. She's got to hope that this guy leaves his wife or his wife leaves him, and then they get together. Yeah. Because I think she's kind of screwed on both ends.

01:17:32 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 2:

How long have you been cheating with this guy?

01:17:37 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 4:

Like a year and a half.

01:17:38 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, a long time. It's been a while. And do you all, like, do you just go to his house, or, like, where do you guys go?

01:17:45 - 01:17:58 | Speaker 4:

Um, he, I go to, we go to his house, or, you know, we hang out, different circles. Have there ever been any close calls? No, no.

01:17:58 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 1:

Have you gone away for a weekend? Like, will you go away for the weekend to go to Coldplay? Oh, no. This will be your first time getting away with him. Okay. All right, cheat away with Coldplay. Hold on one second. You're in the running. We go from initial B to initial A. We're going backwards in the alphabet now. Voice Disguise, initial A, are you there?

01:18:19 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm here.

01:18:20 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 1:

Who are you currently cheating with?

01:18:23 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 3:

I am currently cheating with somebody I work with. It's the shop floor supervisor.

01:18:29 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you work in a big old shop?

01:18:33 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:18:34 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 1:

And how did you guys start your relationship?

01:18:36 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 3:

um i we just started talking as co-workers and then one thing led to another

01:18:42 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

and where do you guys go to do this

01:18:47 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 3:

so we've actually done stuff on break in the parking lot we've done it inside of work in his office do you think people know do you think people have caught on that there's something going on absolutely but he's kind of intimidating so everyone kind of yeah you know won't say

01:19:11 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 2:

anything to him because he's the supervisor who's in a relationship him or are you both

01:19:16 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 1:

in a relationship we both are married or dating dating and do you ever worry that one or both of you guys could lose your job for this little romance that you got going on

01:19:30 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 3:

it's a smaller type shop and i don't think they could afford to lose either one of us so not

01:19:37 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 1:

really okay all right if they were going to fire one of you which one will get fired you probably

01:19:42 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 3:

because he's a he's a big boss i don't know my boss really likes me and my boss i report too so

01:19:49 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 1:

okay all right that's initial a and uh one last one and then uh we're gonna do throwback but i gotta grab uh more of these later if you got good ones for us text us uh And we'll be right back.

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 2:

we'll call you back. T, are you there, T? Hey. Hey, Cheetah Way at Coldplay. A chance

01:20:08 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 4:

to win a pair of Coldplay tickets. So, to be fair, she did it first, so it's my lick back kind of thing, but the lick back keeps licking. Stop for one second. I'm sorry. What

01:20:20 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 2:

did you just say? You said, to be fair. She did it first. She did it first. Who's she? girlfriend so and why would why would you bring your the girlfriend into this whole thing who are you cheating with her man yeah her baby daddy you're cheating with your with your friend's baby daddy no girlfriend's baby daddy your girlfriend's baby daddy girlfriend meaning like your friend or is it are you are you no like you're in it you're you're your girl my girlfriend all right

01:20:51 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 1:

A pair of scissors.

01:20:52 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So why are you doing this? First off, you're cheating with a man.

01:21:00 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it just kind of happened.

01:21:03 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 1:

Nah. How did it just kind of happen?

01:21:07 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, to be fair, she had cheated first, and we were working on things, and he had came over and spent the night, and things just happened.

01:21:15 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 1:

Where was she at?

01:21:16 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 4:

I was mad, and that's what happened. Who made the first move? He didn't.

01:21:22 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 1:

When he came over and spent the night, do you and your girlfriend live with each other?

01:21:28 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but she wasn't there.

01:21:30 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 1:

Where was she?

01:21:33 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:21:35 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

Where was she?

01:21:37 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 4:

She was with somebody she shouldn't have been with.

01:21:40 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so she was cheating on you at the time. Oh, this one's not as bad. This is just your relationship. So I'm assuming that she doesn't think that you'll cheat with a guy because you're with her.

01:21:51 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. She doesn't know what did any of it. Let alone her baby daddy.

01:21:55 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, you're in the running for this contest. Hold on one second, okay? I thought those were just mediocre calls. I think we need better ones as we go on, but we'll see. For real? Yeah. Textures are interesting, too. 419, disgustingly entertaining to listen to cheating stories. Another person here that says, 313 says, Horrible effing people Exactly why marriage will never work for these people They're all pieces of spit We are doomed as a human race We are doomed Another one here This is 248 says How could you reward these cheaters like this It's not even funny I think those people at the Coldplay concert are crazy And I think that it's disgusting That we're even talking about it I agree with you And I don't listen to this show for that reason More coming up Mojo in the Morning, Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM. Our contest is going on right now called Cheat Away at Coldplay in honor of the big dirty story that we've been talking about the last couple of days that CEO of the company and his human resources director getting caught at a Coldplay concert. We have more chances for you to win a pair of tickets to go to Miami and see Coldplay there. So it's the tickets that you have a chance to win with or the cash equivalent of $1,000 could be yours if you confess you're cheating right now, okay? So people are texting us, calling us hypocrites because we do the War of the Roses, busting cheaters. Now we're rewarding cheaters. We're not. What we are doing is we're doing the same thing. We expose the cheaters through the stories. Unfortunately, though, there's a voice disguising machine. So, and we said that the voice is guessing.

01:23:42 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, and also just know that if your significant other just won tickets to a Coldplay show in Miami, that you should probably do some investigating.

01:23:51 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Although I think that you just screwed anybody that was planning on going to Miami this weekend. Hopefully they hit. Could you imagine? I'm coming too. Or actually next weekend. It's next weekend for the show. Text us if you have a story for us. All right. Text Coldplay to 95500. And then Lydia will call you for round two of calls. So we'll do a few rounds of this, and then we will give away the prize. So text 95500 if you would like to be part of this contest. Add the Mojo in the Morning Show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show. Right now, we're going to be doing – and by the way, don't text Coldplay if you don't have a story to call and tell us on the air, because I know that that's what people do. They go, oh. They just quickly run and just start texting because they think they're just going to win the tickets. They have to have a cheating story. Right now, Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We'll grab another qualifier, giving them a $50 gas card to Kroger, courtesy of Green Flame Tequila, and getting you in the running for a brand new car from Gordon Chevrolet, a 2020.

01:25:00 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

825 loaded Chevy Trax or $20,000 cash. 844-665-6548. That's 844-MOJO-LIVE.

01:25:08 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:25:11 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's dirty? I mean, it's kind of like all anybody wants to talk about is this Coldplay cheating scandal. The wife of this astronomer CEO, it's a tech company, by the way. His name is Andy Byron. He's the gray-haired dude in the video. She has deleted all of her social media. I mean, poor thing. And at first she changed her last name. So her name is Megan Kerrigan Byron. She changed it to Megan Kerrigan, changed her profile photo to a photo of just her and maybe her kids. It looked like two boys in the photo.

01:25:43 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 1:

All right, come on. You're okay? Uh-oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.

01:25:52 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 5:

Jesus. And then she ultimately just deleted all of her social media altogether. This CEO and the chief people officer, as this HR director was called, deleted a lot of stuff from their respective LinkedIn's, including Kristen Cabot's announcement that she was joining this company and she was so like deeply thankful to be working with her new CEO. I mean, just like a gushing about each other in several different LinkedIn posts. And again, if you read the statement that was going around last night, this quote-unquote apology statement from this CEO that ended with the lyrics to Coldplay's song Fix You, it is 100% fake. That has been confirmed by his company as well. He has, nobody involved in this has released any sort of statement yet.

01:26:36 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 3:

It is funny because when I was looking at this guy, I feel like I know him. And I know I don't because I don't really have a lot of people I know in the Boston area. But you look at the guy, he just looks like.

01:26:46 - 01:26:47 | Speaker 5:

He just has a familiar face.

01:26:48 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. It's funny. As a couple, like, I don't know what the wife looks like. I have never seen. Oh, really?

01:26:54 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I can show you a picture. Does she look like the HR lady at all? Not at all. She's brunette. See, that's the crazy. I mean, like, her face at all? Yeah, you can see her face. No, nothing. Okay. Yeah.

01:27:04 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 3:

How does he explain himself with this one? And does he own the company or is he just a CEO? Because if he is a CEO, he potentially gets fired. If he owns the company, he's got to, you know.

01:27:13 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 5:

I mean, she's losing her job as the HR director. I don't think. For sure. No, not if he.

01:27:18 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 3:

No, because then you fire her, you fire her, now you leave it up that you've got to fire both of them, right? You can't just fire one.

01:27:25 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure the company has a board. What's the rule? I don't know. I feel like it's different for every company.

01:27:29 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 3:

If he owns the company, she and he are fine. They're going to be sticking around. There's no way, he's not going to fire himself. It's just maybe bad for business, but it sounds to me like when the wife is changing her social media as fast as she's changing her social media, it sounds to me like she's not too happy and she's not sticking around.

01:27:46 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. President Donald Trump calling to release all pertinent grand jury testimony relating to Jeffrey Epstein, and it could happen today.

01:27:57 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 3:

The pressure is on. Got to release this stuff.

01:27:59 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 2:

Overnight, President Trump calling for his attorney general to release more details in the Epstein case. Trump posted on Truth Social saying, quote, based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I've asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent grand jury testimony subject to court approval. Bondi quickly responding, saying, quote, President Trump, we're ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.

01:28:25 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 1:

He's been very clear that he wants all credible information, credible evidence to be turned over to the people so that the people can decide.

01:28:32 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 2:

The announcement, which came hours after Trump said there would be no special counsel for the case, appeared to be in response to growing calls for transparency. For the second time this week, House Republicans voted down a Democratic procedural move to force the release of the Epstein files, even as they advanced their own resolution that calls for the release of the documents. But the resolution is non-binding. Critics like Republican Thomas Massey of Kentucky slamming the move, saying, Congress thinks you're stupid. The Rules Committee passed a non-binding Epstein resolution, hoping folks will accept it as real. It forces the release of nothing. The deep divides over transparency and loyalty to Trump now spilling into full view. On Capitol Hill, the debate over releasing the files turned hostile as Democratic and Republican lawmakers clashed over claims that releasing additional information

01:29:19 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 1:

could be harmful to the victims. We know who you are, Ms. Heidi. You're the party of child

01:29:24 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 5:

victims. That's why you opened the border. Nobody wants to know victims' names, nor should

01:29:29 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

we that information that piece of it we want to know if there's a client the list of clients yeah i um i think it's interesting that now we're getting elon also texting or tweeting again so he's actually been tweeting again about the list and who's on the list don't you think he already knows that there's a list like if he was everybody knows but if he was that close with trump trump talked about it and told him that there was yeah i think that trump's got a lot of stuff to answer to, I mean, he called, you know, his voters, he called some of the people in the magazine.

01:30:00 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 5:

he called them stupid and dumb which you don't call the people that voted for you that i think is looking bad now and i think he's feeling the pressure right now i love them as a couple actress

01:30:10 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

kate bosworth and justin long have been together since 2022 and big congrats to them we just learned that they have welcomed a baby girl who are they a surrogate you don't know who justin long is and kate bosworth if i showed you pictures of them where is he from i don't know there are those Those, like, actors, actresses that have been, hang on, let me show you a picture.

01:30:29 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, show me a picture.

01:30:30 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 3:

You know who he is.

01:30:32 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, he's a guy, yeah, yeah, what was he in? He's been in Accepted, he's been in Dodgeball. You've seen Dodgeball. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was a young kid from Dodgeball.

01:30:40 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 5:

And then she is, she's also an actress, too?

01:30:42 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, look at, you know her, too.

01:30:44 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 5:

Show me her.

01:30:44 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 3:

01:30:45 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, if you are on TikTok, you have probably heard this song as audio in a video or dozens of videos. It went viral like end of last year, beginning of this year. The song right here.

01:31:03 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Let me get the song right here. What the song is.

01:31:05 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 6:

All girls in Remember the Titans.

01:31:07 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:31:07 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:31:07 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

Pretty little baby, you say that maybe you'll be thinking of.

01:31:13 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 3:

So this song was sung originally by Connie Francis, who was a big pop star of the late 1950s and early 60s. also a fierce mental health advocate but she passed away this week at the age of 87 after a recent hospitalization and this is another one of those situations of when this song was released in 1962 it was like meh didn't really do much and then all of a sudden randomly went viral on tiktok this year but yeah just died also she was the first solo female artist to have a number one hit on the billboard top 100 it was her that's awesome so she got to see her song be a hit yeah for all of today's dirty catch up on everything you miss check out the podcast search mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:34:35 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 5:

i just i don't know why it makes me laugh but that the the meme uh that's been going around of coldplay hasn't had a single in years last night they made two um that is the funniest thing ever i don't know what why why is this story so viral right now i don't know wow man Roman. Real always wins.

01:35:00 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 1:

Unreal. All right, so we're doing a contest here right now, and we are giving you a chance to be part of what is the biggest viral moment of the week. And we're going to give you an opportunity to win a pair of tickets to see Coldplay with our Cheetah Way at Coldplay. It's funny. I've been to a Coldplay concert before, and I've gone to see them at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Fabulous, guys. Have you never seen their show?

01:35:28 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 3:

Fabulous, guys. It is, like, the best.

01:35:30 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 1:

The light shows that they have in there, I've never seen, like, in my life, like, staged like they do. And that Chris Martin guy can jump around on stage like he's 12. It's, like, nuts. I don't know how that guy is able to do it. When you went Gwyneth Paltrow? He was married to Gwyneth.

01:35:50 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 3:

They were married for a long time.

01:35:51 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Did he cheat on her, though, or no? Did they just break up?

01:35:55 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 3:

They consciously uncoupled.

01:35:57 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 1:

Consciously uncoupled. Oh, that's amazing.

01:35:59 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 2:

That's not like they was on LSD or something. You started talking like that.

01:36:02 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

If you watch his shows, his concerts, I've never been on LSD, nor have I ever wanted to, unless I went to a Coldplay concert.

01:36:11 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 2:

Do they throw powder around?

01:36:12 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

No, it's like lights all over the place. Like, literally, it's like, seriously, the most unbelievable light show ever. Like, you can't look directly at them. If they had that show at that sphere, I probably would have, like, an epileptic seizure. It would be nuts. All right, so here we go. We got some contestants here. This is round two. You know what's funny? I feel like I need some kind of game show-y type of... Fire it up! I feel like I need something that gets me... It's round two of our... Please welcome to round two of Cheat Away at Coldplay. All right, who do we got here? Contestant number one is Em, who's on with us right now. Hi, Em. How you doing?

01:37:10 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good.

01:37:11 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Cheat away at Coldplay. People who are currently cheating, exposing themselves to win a pair of tickets to see Coldplay. Tell us about you. Are you, first off, a married woman? Yes. And are you cheating with another married person?

01:37:28 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:37:29 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Very cold play of you. And how do you know each other? How did you meet the person that you're cheating with?

01:37:39 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, I work at a golf club, and he's on the board.

01:37:47 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 1:

He's on the board of a golf club that you work at. Okay. Question for you. Where are you calling us from right now?

01:37:55 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 3:

The boardroom.

01:37:56 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 1:

The board at the actual golf club.

01:37:59 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 3:

Are you sitting in his seat? Yes.

01:38:01 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 1:

He's not around, is he? Or is anybody around?

01:38:04 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. I mean, the staff, yes.

01:38:07 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 1:

So are you, when you work at the golf club that you work at, are you somebody that, are you like a waitress or a bartender or something like that?

01:38:17 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no.

01:38:18 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 1:

No, you work at the club. So you work for the club. Okay.

01:38:20 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 3:

I attend board meetings and committee meetings.

01:38:23 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 1:

Does he ever bring his wife to this golf club?

01:38:26 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 3:

um sometimes dinner but i'm not here at that time how did the relationship start uh just just some meetings so you would hang after meetings because you guys have meetings

01:38:42 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 1:

and stuff like that like you have like you have to uh vote on things that happen at the golf club probably right yes we just yes and then are there other board people there like do the other board people leave and go home and then he just goes into like an office or something and messes around with you?

01:39:00 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Yes, my office.

01:39:01 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. Have you ever done anything else with any other board members? No.

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:39:08 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 1:

She may be easy.

01:39:11 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 3:

She ain't that easy. I'm just asking.

01:39:14 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 1:

No, listen.

01:39:15 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

It gets even worse.

01:39:17 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 1:

What?

01:39:18 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 3:

Someone from the white staff knows. How do they know? Oh, they walked in on you? They overheard a conversation.

01:39:27 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:39:28 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 2:

So are they keeping it quiet, or have they approached you and said that they're going to tell unless you pay them off or something?

01:39:34 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 3:

They've approached just recently.

01:39:37 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

What did they say?

01:39:39 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 3:

I know. And I can get you fired, and, you know, half the club will leave knowing that this is going on.

01:39:48 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. do you worry that that's going to end up ending this whole situation and you're going to end up being busted or are you kind of wanting to stay with this guy and hoping that this thing gets No, no. I just don't want to lose my job at this point.

01:40:02 - 01:40:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What are you more worried about? Losing your job or losing your husband and him finding out about it?

01:40:10 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, obviously husband and job.

01:40:13 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:40:13 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 1:

Then job.

01:40:14 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 2:

Is it fun, though? Are you having fun with this guy? Don't say obviously.

01:40:18 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, of course.

01:40:20 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Well, listen, thank you for being on the air with us this morning. You're in the running for this. Would you get exposed if you took the man from the golf club to this Coldplay concert?

01:40:34 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 1:

Not in Miami.

01:40:37 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:40:37 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 1:

But how are you going to lie about going to Miami for? I don't know. I don't even know the dates and all of that.

01:40:45 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 2:

Just checking out golf courses. That's it. That's right. All right. That's contestant number one, round number two. Initial H. Give me the music. Come on, man. Initial H is on with us right now. Voice disguised. Hi, H.

01:41:21 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you?

01:41:23 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 2:

Good, H. tell us about your Cheetah Way at Coldplay story

01:41:28 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 1:

okay so I'm married for the last 13 years and for the last year and a half I've been messing around with one of my employees

01:41:40 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 2:

what kind of work do you do?

01:41:44 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 1:

I am a supervisor at Automotive Manufacturer

01:41:50 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 2:

oh wow And so you guys must cheat while you're at work so that your spouse doesn't find out about this.

01:42:00 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we cheat at work, but my husband also works on second shift.

01:42:03 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Right. So they know each other.

01:42:10 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 1:

Everywhere.

01:42:11 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 2:

Wow. How did the cheating start?

01:42:13 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, it started off just as friends.

01:42:16 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 2:

And then who made the first move?

01:42:19 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 1:

evolved. Honestly

01:42:21 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 2:

me. What'd you do? Did you go in for a kiss?

01:42:25 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 1:

I said I've got a hotel room this weekend and I would like you

01:42:29 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

to come with me. You went right for the hotel room. Telly. Came in for an oil change. Left our list.

01:42:35 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 1:

So there are other people there that probably have to know. Almost everybody knows. How does this second shift? Nobody's told your husband? Nope. Wow. I plan on divorcing my husband next week since my boyfriend just proposed to me. Oh, my God.

01:42:56 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 2:

He proposed knowing that you're a married woman and you're married to one of his coworkers? Yeah. Do you think that this will be a bad thing for you at work? Like, will the automotive supply people be upset with this?

01:43:11 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

No. Did he give you a ring when he proposed? No, I'm curious about this. Yes. And so where's the ring?

01:43:19 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

um hiding in my purse oh my god do you put it on when you're around him i do look man you've been telling me to watch tires if it's anything like this that's more of a comedy but this is crazy well it's funny because of uh you have access to him because he's on your shift with you uh your husband has the next shift so you probably take them to your house too don't you and mess around sometimes not often oh poor guy all right well hold on one second congratulations on your engagement i think i'm supposed to say hold on one second okay yeah this is crazy uh let's go to initial c for uh one here it's round two of cheat away with cold play uh c are you there c i don't get my oh no hold on c c hang on One second. Hi, C. How you doing? How are you?

01:44:25 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you? Just my life.

01:44:27 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. C, we're talking to people who are currently cheating to try to win tickets to go see Coldplay, which you heard the big story, right, about this guy and this woman cheating together?

01:44:39 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 1:

I was a guy. That was great.

01:44:41 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a crazy story. That guy seriously dove down like it was a trap door.

01:44:48 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 1:

Before saying, oh, F, it's me. You could read his lips so clearly.

01:44:53 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 2:

So are you married?

01:44:56 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 1:

I am. I've been married for 16 years. You're cheating on your husband. Who are you cheating with? My next door neighbor. Wow. How does your husband not know that you and the next door neighbor are messing around? You're doing it right under his nose.

01:45:11 - 01:45:14 | Speaker 4:

No, he's actually in prison right now.

01:45:14 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Her husband's in prison right now.

01:45:17 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. I'm safe. However, he is not. He is married and has three children.

01:45:23 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. So you're the lonely wife whose husband had to go to prison that this guy has to go over and do guy stuff at your house, huh?

01:45:33 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I would say we bake cookies quite often.

01:45:36 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

I like to bake. Are you friends with his wife? Cookies.

01:45:40 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 4:

You know, she's a great lady. It was something that happened and has been on day for six years.

01:45:48 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:45:49 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 4:

For six years? They don't have their own personal issues, so it kind of doesn't make me feel bad. But it does, because our children go to school together.

01:45:57 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Do you think that this affair will ever get exposed? Or will you guys just decide to end it so it doesn't get too messy before your husband comes home from prison and kills this man?

01:46:07 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 4:

I actually am trying to buy a house now, so I would be moving downriver out of Detroit.

01:46:15 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 1:

And you want to move away from these people so that the affair can end?

01:46:20 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't want the affair to end at all.

01:46:22 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you want to bring him with you? You want to take him away from his wife?

01:46:27 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't want to take him away from his wife. I just want to keep doing what we're doing.

01:46:31 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 2:

When does your husband get out?

01:46:32 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 4:

I like what we're doing. There is no commitment. I don't have to worry about being told what to do and when to come home.

01:46:40 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 2:

When does your husband get out?

01:46:41 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 4:

Take care of business and then go. We've never been on a single date.

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 1:

They just go and have sex.

01:46:49 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 3:

How does he come over so many times without his wife kind of wondering what's going on?

01:46:54 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 4:

He works midnights and she works afternoons. Oh, gosh. I'm going to ask you for a third time.

01:47:02 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 2:

Kevin needs to know this. We're worried. When does your husband get out?

01:47:08 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 4:

He has eight more years. Oh, good.

01:47:10 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 2:

You got a long time to cheat.

01:47:12 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have no worries at this point. Unless he surprised you for early release. It's not going to happen now.

01:47:18 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 1:

What's he in for? Hopefully not, like, hurting somebody.

01:47:22 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 4:

Assault with attempt to commit murder. Oh, my God.

01:47:27 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you this. What do you think the dude screwed his wife?

01:47:29 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to tell you this. This woman could be as fine as she wants to be. A man in prison for assault with attempt to commit murder. I ain't messing with her. I don't care how cute are you. Tell me.

01:47:41 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 4:

He's got 16 to 25 years.

01:47:43 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 1:

16 to 25 years. This woman's got needs. Right?

01:47:48 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. And they're being met. Absolutely. And how convenient can that be?

01:47:52 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. All right. Well, thanks for entering the contest.

01:47:56 - 01:47:56 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:47:57 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 1:

You guys have a great day.

01:48:03 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 3:

If you're watching on Facebook Live, please check out Kev's moves to this music. It's kind of like church music in the beginning.

01:48:18 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 1:

Initial O on with us right now. Hi-o.

01:48:24 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Hi-o.

01:48:25 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 1:

Hi-o.

01:48:27 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

01:48:28 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

You're cheating too?

01:48:29 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 4:

First time lifetime. Oh, first time lifetime.

01:48:33 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 1:

That's the best one. First time lifetime cheater. What's up? Who are you cheating with?

01:48:40 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 3:

This guy that I was saying before, my boyfriend.

01:48:44 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:48:45 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 3:

I didn't hear what she said.

01:48:46 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 1:

She said, I don't know either. She said, I'm cheating. Why did you say yes, then? Because I don't know. I thought maybe it was just me.

01:48:52 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Basically an ex.

01:48:53 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 1:

Who are you cheating with? Oh, an ex.

01:48:55 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's been dealing with her for a long time. But we were never here.

01:48:57 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Are you cheating with an ex? Are you married?

01:49:00 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:49:01 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's not so bad. That's okay. It's just a boyfriend.

01:49:03 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 4:

She still cheated. And we have a kid together.

01:49:06 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, and you guys have a kid together, so it's a baby daddy. Where do you guys hook up that makes it that he doesn't ever know?

01:49:13 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 4:

Um, his house, my car. Um, he just wanted to go to my house, but I don't want to do it.

01:49:23 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 1:

Um, your, your voice is geyser is hard for me to hear, but, uh, question for you. Uh, do you think that there's any way that your guy that you're cheating with would ever want to have like a thruple with you and your boyfriend?

01:49:38 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 4:

No, he wants me, he wants me to become a sister wife.

01:49:42 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he wants you to be with him and his girl. Is he married?

01:49:46 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, they're not married.

01:49:49 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 1:

Are you considering it?

01:49:52 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 4:

Kind of.

01:49:53 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. So you would leave your boyfriend to be with your ex and his new girl?

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 4:

Again, I can't understand what she's saying.

01:50:04 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 3:

Can we talk to you off voice disguise?

01:50:08 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'm going to put that one on hold. That one's not as salacious. These ones are all more salacious, aren't they?

01:50:17 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 3:

Can we point out something real quick?

01:50:19 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:50:20 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 3:

There are only women that are calling in.

01:50:22 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

01:50:22 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Guys get such a bad rap for how we are in relationships. You can't trust us. We are dogs.

01:50:28 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 1:

That's because you guys don't admit to it.

01:50:30 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 3:

Nine out of ten times, every call has been a woman. It's Coldplay.

01:50:33 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 1:

Who was the first one to duck down? They cheat.

01:50:35 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 3:

Think about it.

01:50:36 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 4:

What guy wants to go to a Coldplay concert?

01:50:38 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm just saying. We can't act like these women ain't out here cheating, too. That's the only point I'm trying to make.

01:50:41 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 4:

They're cheating with somebody. It's just that they're willing to admit to it. The guys aren't willing to admit to it. I'm just saying. Am I done with round two right now, Lydia? Did we get one more? One more. One more. All right, here we go.

01:50:52 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's the one you've already picked up.

01:50:54 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I did already pick this up?

01:50:55 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 1:

Let me see. I have a caller right now. Can you buy me like two seconds?

01:50:58 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 4:

That's okay. We'll do it. Okay. We'll end it. Let's just end it. We don't need one more. I don't need any more.

01:51:02 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 2:

One more dance.

01:51:11 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo.

01:52:10 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 2:

Excuse me. So we all follow, and you should follow if you're not following, this Metro Detroit News Instagram page, right? Oh, yeah. And so yesterday they posted a video of a really, really bad car accident. It looked like a truck had hit or like had hit a DTE generator or DTE truck or something. And they posted photos, videos, and they said it was a fatal accident. The person driving the truck had died. The accident happened at Allen Road and Goddard in Allen Park. So I'm looking at this yesterday afternoon and I'm going, oh my God, that's right by where my dad lives. And then I look at the vehicle and I'm like, that's my dad's exact truck, color, everything. Oh my God. So my stomach like sinks, you know, and I'm thinking, God, I hope my dad's okay. And so finally I, it was bugging me so, so bad. My dad doesn't drive a ton, but, um, I, I called him yesterday afternoon and he was like i know why you're calling me he said everybody had been calling him but i was like dad i just needed to hear your voice and make sure that you are alive because that scared the crap out of me he said he was at one of his favorite bars o'malley's and like everybody was on their phones looking at that same thing and they were all like tim looks just like your car but scared

01:53:33 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 4:

the crap out of me for a second wow that you know what uh the worst is when you hear that there's an accident or a fire uh or any kind of crazy thing happening anywhere and you have family members that live by there yeah and you're all worried about that something bad has happened i hear sirens sometimes and i'm i'm like i turned into my mom and aunt pat where if i hear sirens and i i grew quickly chelsea where are you at you know luke where are you at like i'm like looking to

01:54:04 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 2:

see what's going on but to see that on the news you know and you're like oh my god even down to the body went to the to the call everything about the car exactly his car and right by where he lives now it set me up i about had a heart attack and he got multiple calls were you that late on the calls or were you he was so sweet he's like i really appreciate you calling and checking on me

01:54:28 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 4:

of course oh my god that's have you guys ever had that has anybody ever had this happen to them where they're driving down the street and they see a car accident and they go, oh, those poor bastards. And then you find out later that you knew the poor bastards. Or you see something on

01:54:42 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 2:

the news and you're like, I know those people. Yeah. Right. Luckily, that's never happened to

01:54:47 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 3:

me. I pray it never does. I don't know how I react. There was a fire in Novi the other day

01:54:52 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 4:

and they were reporting on it on the radio when I was driving into work in the morning and they're like talking about this fire and then they're talking about the. neighborhood and i'm like holy crap and it was uh the house three doors down from a friend's friends of ours that live in that same neighborhood and it's crazy because you're like realizing holy crap what's going on you know that's one of those situations the closest that

01:55:14 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 3:

something has ever come to to happen to me like that and it was one of these i don't know if it was metro news or i don't know what you know platform i was looking at it on or what page but there was a shooting or something that happened at the corner of a street And when I zoomed in on the street, I'm like, that's my grandma's street. Luckily, my grandma was okay. She was like, was that all I heard? She was like, was that that sirens and all that I heard? Grandma, go in your basement, grandma.

01:55:38 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so you're saying that grandma the whole time didn't realize what was going on?

01:55:44 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 3:

She didn't know what was going on. She heard sirens and stuff, but didn't know it was like a thing until I called it. She's like, wow, so that's what it was.

01:55:49 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

You better check on her a little bit more often.

01:55:52 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 3:

Always talk to grandma. That's my grandma.

01:55:54 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 4:

I was funny. I went to go to the Metro Detroit News to go look at that story to see the car. And then I just saw this story. Did you see this one this morning about the plane that had to divert?

01:56:04 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, from Omaha?

01:56:05 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a passenger arrested after attempting to open the emergency door mid-flight on a flight to Detroit. SkyWest flight operating as Delta Airlines Connect was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday evening after a passenger tried to open up the emergency exit and passengers had to detain the guy. The pilot reported over the radio that the passenger was fighting with a flight attendant and attempting to open the door to leave the plane in the mid-flight. Law enforcement boarded the plane and they actually have video of the law enforcement.

01:56:44 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 2:

It was a guy from Omaha, by the way, not Detroit. Oh, thank God. How mad would you be? Everybody still made it to Detroit last night, but they arrived at like three hours later than they were supposed to.

01:56:55 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 4:

How mad would you be, Shannon, if that was your dad in that one?

01:56:59 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'd be pretty.

01:57:00 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 4:

I'd be like, Dad, why are you opening the door on the plane? Look at this. They're showing the guys walk off. The police and stuff down there. And they're arresting them. First off, the guy doesn't know how to dress for a flight. You can't wear a T-shirt and a pair of gym shorts like you're going to play a game up at the park up the street. Why not? You're going to freeze your ass off. No, you can't do it on a plane. First off, he looks like he hasn't showered in about a week, but you can't do that on a plane. Why not? You've got to dress a little more nice. Why not? Because you're getting on a plane.

01:57:27 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 2:

Everybody, nobody dresses nice anymore for flights.

01:57:30 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 4:

Not dress up, but you've got to at least put something on. What do you mean? Like the lowest you can be on that thing is wearing a pair of like yoga pants. But you can't like wear sweatpants. Yeah, you can. You're supposed to. You've got to be comfortable. You can't wear like the sweatpants that have like the tie, the things at the bottom of them, you know what I mean, and show off your balls on a plane. What? What? What? sweatpants you see like like shorts like joggers like like kevin you can't dress like you just woke up in the middle or like this the stuff that you sleep in you cannot wear on a flight why again

01:57:59 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

you're not saying why you're saying what you can't do you're not giving any reasons you're on an

01:58:02 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 4:

airline flight you paid five hundred dollars for an airline ticket to make sure i'm comfortable i

01:58:06 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 3:

plan to go somewhere i didn't plan to it's not a it's not a black tie event i'm sorry going

01:58:11 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 2:

somewhere it is so funny back in the day when i was little and we would fly my mom would dress us to the nines like we were going to church to get on a flight and nowadays i look like a bum i do wear sometimes like comfortable sweatpants that i wear to bed you can be comfortable but also look

01:58:24 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 4:

respectable this is the reason why if you're going to be the guy arrested on this thing now this guy's

01:58:29 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 3:

got to go to jail wearing that stuff he's more comfortable than a dude in a three-piece suit

01:58:33 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 1:

trying to look like somebody what's up samantha morning guys morning so back when i was an undergrad this is like in 2009 at harry ford college there was a school shooting unfortunately where the school went on lockdown um i was supposed to be at the school running one of our community meetings and unfortunately a young girl did uh pass away um she was shot and killed and i had non-stop calls that it was they were thinking it was me because it sounded like a definition like oh this young young black girl was shot killed in the dance hall and everyone was like oh my god oh my god it's samantha and i'm like what's going on i looked on the news and it was not me i wasn't even at the school but that was definitely a scary situation because i was supposed

01:59:23 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 4:

to be there i'm telling you we we've got friends that were at oxford high school the day that that thing uh happened that horrible tragedy happened and we were freaking out over friends and then you know to hear about what was going on that is that is the worst when the news reports a story and you think that you know somebody from it i mean think msu abe oh that was another one too that day with all the people at msu what's up abe hey good morning guys morning hey uh i don't know

01:59:51 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

there's a there's a feature on apple where you can put like emergency contact in case something happens to you, or you get into an accident, pinpoint your location.

02:00:00 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 3:

The one time I'm at home and my phone is ringing and it's showing your wife has been in an emergency accident and responses are on the way. And I'm like, I'm calling her and she's not answering and going straight to voicemail, straight to voicemail. And I'm like getting in the truck. I'm going to go to where the location says it was. And finally, her sister was calling me and she's like, hey, just to let you know, your wife left her phone on the back of the pickup truck. And when she turned, it fell off and we can't find the phone. Oh, thank God. Again, I would have had a heart attack.

02:00:32 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 4:

You let the biggest breath out at that moment. Oh, yeah. Or were you pissed that now you had to buy her a new phone?

02:00:40 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 3:

It has been Sharon, so it doesn't bother you much. I'm just happy she was okay. Right.

02:00:45 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank God. All right. Mystery on the phone with us right now. Is that really your name? Mystery, yeah. Hi, Mystery. Are you a first time long time?

02:00:54 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 5:

No, I've called her a couple times, but definitely a long time. They're a few-time caller, no?

02:00:58 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 4:

I don't remember that name. It's a beautiful name. What's going on?

02:01:02 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, thank you. Well, it was like a few months ago. There was a bank rob nearby, and they're showing on the news, like, the suspect of who it was. And we all could have sworn it was my brother-in-law. Like, my husband was dead set on, this is my brother. Oh, my God. He just robbed a bank.

02:01:17 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 4:

Because of the way that he dressed?

02:01:19 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they just had, like, you know, there was the way he was standing. They had, like, the image from the bank inside and, like, the hoodie. It was the same hoodie he had even had, and we were just, like, so convinced it was him. Did you call him right away? Yeah, well, we tried calling him, but we, you know, couldn't get all of them, and we didn't think he would tell us anyway, but it wasn't him. It was not him, luckily. They got the suspects.

02:01:42 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Bernard, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:01:48 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, man. I think we might be old, Mojo, because when I was growing up, we had to wait. I mean, I literally remember wearing a suit and a tie just to fly.

02:01:57 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that nice? You know what's funny? I'm not saying that you should wear a suit and tie. You're right. That was how it was in the old days. That movie, Catch Me If You Can, that Leonardo DiCaprio movie, how they would dress. But I don't want to sit next to the guy that hasn't showered on an airplane or the girl in her PJs.

02:02:14 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 2:

I was about to say, people wear PJs and bonnets and slippers.

02:02:18 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 4:

I know. What are you doing? You got your house dress on. Why does that matter to you? You can't get on an airplane in a house dress. They got to have some kind of an assemblance of order. So what does that do to you? It just makes me feel like, honestly, that this person's not clean. I don't. But what if they are? And they've showered. They did all of that. They just would rather be comfortable and relaxed. We're going to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. And if your ass shows up in a pair. You don't sit your ass next to me and be quiet. I'm going to tell them that you. Don't worry.

02:02:44 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 1:

He redeems his points and sits in first class and lets us take the company seats in the back. Trust me, I've done this enough times with him.

02:02:51 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 4:

Let me say this to you, though. This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to say, when I was in the actual terminal, I heard this man say that he was going to do something on the plane. Or I heard that this guy left his luggage sitting by. You know how they always say, if you see somebody with their luggage that has been left alone, this man grabbed luggage. I'm going to turn you in. You're going to be back in TSA.

02:03:14 - 02:03:14 | Unknown:

All right.

02:03:15 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Rachel? Hi.

02:03:18 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 6:

Hey.

02:03:18 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 4:

How are you?

02:03:20 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 6:

I'm getting on a plane tomorrow, actually, to Florida, and I plan on dressing with Adam Sandler vibes.

02:03:27 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. Live your life. That's horrible.

02:03:30 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 6:

I am dressing like the greatest 902-hour nap of my life, and I will take advantage of every point of it. Yep.

02:03:38 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 4:

As you should. God help those people. You know what? It's perfect. You're going to Florida. That sounds like a very Florida-y place for you. All right.

02:03:46 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm from there. Take care of yourself. Safe flight.

02:03:48 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 4:

Bye, Rachel.

02:03:49 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:04:33 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 4:

Lydia, I think we've got to pick the winner for this contest. Are you good with picking the winner this morning on the show?

02:04:39 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 5:

Sure, yeah.

02:04:40 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

All right, so it's either you're going to go to Coldplay and you're going to get a chance to bring your lover with. people are not happy about this. I never knew that we had so many of our Mojo in the Morning listeners that have morals. They are all upset about our Cheetah Way at Coldplay contest.

02:05:00 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 3:

But it's either you win a pair of tickets to go to the show in Miami. You'll have to find your own transportation there and back. Or you get a $1,000 equivalent. We'll pick the winner in a second. Shannon, you got more on that story right now?

02:05:15 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 1:

It has so many names. Coldplay Gate being one of them. These two cheaters that were busted at the Coldplay show in Boston. Coldplay Gay?

02:05:21 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 4:

Is that what you said?

02:05:22 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 1:

Gate.

02:05:22 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Gate. Coldplay Gate. Oh, okay.

02:05:24 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. The big story that everybody was waking up to this morning was that the CEO of this tech company, Astronomer, Andy Byron, the gray haired man that is 50 percent of this, had made a statement. And it was like an apology statement that basically said, let me start by apologizing to my family, my wife, our employees. My behavior is inexcusable and the shame I am receiving is well deserved. deserved um and there were like two different statements that i saw going around both of them

02:05:57 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 3:

are fake he has not issued any sort of statement do we know if this uh andy byron guy if the andy

02:06:16 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 1:

byron guy owns that company i want to know i don't know because he deleted his linkedin so i can't even go to his linkedin to like really uh and on the company's website i looked at like the executive team by the way this kristen cabot uh the chief of the chief people officer the hr director is the only female on this leadership team it's all all guys but the reason i asked that question

02:06:40 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 3:

is because if so his wife now owns half of it i just want to make sure you see the girl that took

02:06:45 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 1:

the video and post it yeah she's adorable oh that's the girl yeah so she's the one so she was at the cold her i think her name is grace singer correct me if i'm wrong just so i get it right yes um and so she was at the cold play show she sees this happening on the jumbotron videos it puts it on social media and really because of her it went viral right because nobody would have known about this if you weren't actually at the show it's amazing how stuff takes

02:07:14 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 3:

just a matter of time before it goes crazy because the show was over the weekend.

02:07:18 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 1:

It was Wednesday.

02:07:19 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 3:

It was Wednesday the show was?

02:07:20 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 1:

I think it was Wednesday night in Boston. It was Wednesday. He was in Toronto over the weekend.

02:07:25 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right. I mean, this happened fast. Man, that's crazy.

02:07:28 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Jimmy Kimmel is pissed about this Stephen Colbert news that we got last night. If you missed it, CBS officially announcing that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end after this season.

02:07:42 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 3:

Got it, I got it. Hold on a second. Here you go.

02:07:45 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 2:

Before we start the show, I want to let you know something that I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending The Late Show in May.

02:08:00 - 02:08:01 | Unknown:

And...

02:08:01 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I share your feelings. It's not just the end of our show, but it's the end of The Late Show on CBS. I'm not being replaced. This is all just going away.

02:08:15 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 1:

Jimmy Kimmel last night tweeting, love you, Stephen, F you and all your Sheldons, CBS.

02:08:20 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 4:

I think like a lot, I've seen a lot of chatter. I didn't know about the story or what he did yesterday, but I went on Twitter and a lot of people are speculating that this is in retaliation. The network is retaliating after Trump sued them for however much money. And he went on his show and condemned them saying that it looked like they were taking bribes.

02:08:40 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 3:

Trump was suing because of something that happened on 60 Minutes, the 60 Minutes thing, and won a ton of money. I don't know if that seems like it would be obvious, right, if that's the case.

02:08:53 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Like, it just did, like, three days ago.

02:08:55 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 3:

But also, they're saying, the networks are saying that they were letting people go before this. As a matter of fact, they let go pretty much all of Late Night on CBS.

02:09:03 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, two other shows.

02:09:04 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

It's amazingly sad to see how bad television is getting right now as far as people are streaming so much and the TV companies haven't done a very good job of trying to keep up with streaming platforms. And I will say this to you. I mean, I thank God that we still have a job here and I'm not going to gloat at all because we're definitely don't make them, you know, as revenue of the radio station don't make as much as we did back in the day when it was just radio TV that was out there in newspapers. but radio did a better job of keeping up with the times you know through streaming apps and iHeart app was one of the first if not the first and then podcasting too which was so big yeah like you know Bob has done a good job uh Bob Pittman at doing that but tv has done such a poor job and I look at the local tv stations right now and they all have a bunch of like you know just out of college guys working there and there's just a couple and they're not even doing as much local programming and I think

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 2:

that it's gotten to a point where these local tv stations went away from trying to keep up with the revenue that they people are you know now making on podcasts like look at how much money

02:10:11 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

podcasting makes you know these podcasters bank it's crazy or influencers for them and good for

02:10:19 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

them you know instagram influencers yeah you know they make tons of money yeah streamers so zach

02:10:24 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 1:

brown is in the middle of a real messy divorce from his ex-wife kelly actually their divorce was finalized in January, but there's still the aftermath of all of these lawsuits that he's throwing at her. I don't know why, like just to be a pain, just to intimidate her. Well, she got on social media yesterday and announced that a jury trial has been set for September in Atlanta regarding the multiple lawsuits that the country star has filed against her. And she said, I'm opening this up to the public because I hope it will bring closure to this. She outlined some of the legal moves that Zach is making against her. He allegedly tried to force her into signing a marital NDA during their divorce. He used their actual wedding video in one of his music videos, but he replaced her with a lookalike model in some of the more inappropriate scenes, which she said was just disgusting. He sued her over a poem and for corporate espionage. I don't really understand what those charges are all about, but she said she is eager to prove her truth and move on from the emotional and financial toll of this litigation. I always think of Zach Brown as being this, like, great, nice guy, and you hear stuff like this and go, eh. I don't know.

02:11:32 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 2:

He was at the All-Star game the other night, the Major League Baseball All-Star game. I thought you were going to say he was at the Coldplay show. No.

02:11:39 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 1:

And as, you know, he already has moved on. He's dating, well, you don't know jewelry, but he's dating a jewelry designer named Kendra Scott. She's, like, a really popular. Of course I know Kendra Scott. Do you? No, you don't. Of course. Everyone knows Kendra Scott. As you're Googling. Okay, and as the world's number one golfer, Scotty Scheffler hit a stunning approach shot in the 17th green at the Royal Portrush, I think it's called. A big old fart from a nearby fan was caught on the broadcast mic, and the commentators could not stop laughing. So far above the green, downwind you can get onto this green, but Scheffler.

02:12:21 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, a peeler. What are you laughing about?

02:12:27 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 1:

There's so much to say about that shot. I saw him off the clock face. That's extraordinary. Let's stick to the golf. Just a little bit of wind from behind. A little bit of wind. Just helped to ease down the green. You guys. I killed her. I figured this out of myself. What a shot. Wow, that's awesome. That was so good. All right, for everything you missed this week, you can catch up by listening to those podcasts. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:12:54 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 2:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Your call may be monitored or recorded. Sarah, you there, Sarah?

02:13:08 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm here.

02:13:08 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 2:

Sarah, you're a winner. Congratulations. Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas. Well, thank you so much. Congrats, congrats. I want you to do us a favor. I want you to hang on because we're going to get your information. We're going to get you into this contest. Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas. Next week is grand finale time.

02:13:28 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 1:

Perfect. Thank you guys so much.

02:13:29 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Have a fantastic one. We're going to get the winner of our contest, Cheat Away at Coldplay. And then Kev getting ready to go to a big party this weekend. Wait till you hear the invitation for the party. Next. Add the Mojo in the Morning Show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show. All right. And so this Coldplay contest here this morning, thank you to our listener from early this morning. You can listen to the podcast of the very first break of the day after we played the throwback songs, who gave us the idea of the name of the contest. We had the idea, but we were looking for a name. They came up with Cheat Away at Coldplay. So that was actually the name that they had for the contest. We were looking for a contest name. and we didn't have time because anytime a story goes viral like this, you don't have time to kind of brainstorm. You got to just get right to it. And they came up with that. Confess your affair on air to win concert tickets. And if you don't get a chance today, but tomorrow go back on our Instagram and look at Kevin and I cheating together. It's a beautiful affair that we had back in the day.

02:14:42 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 1:

That was not a very cute and cozy couple.

02:14:44 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 2:

That was not at a Coldplay concert. That was the concert for Keisha Cole not Coldplay that Kevin went to and remember last week came in after so it was so much fun to be with you Kevin thank you the winner of our concert Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all. The winner of the contest. Lydia randomly picked the winner from our calls this morning of Cheat Away with Coldplay. And the winner of either Coldplay tickets to go see a Coldplay concert or $1,000 cash, their choice, is Initial H. H is a winner.

02:15:21 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 1:

All right. I feel kind of weird clapping, but okay, H.

02:15:26 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 2:

H for ho. Is ho start with an H or is it a W? That's whore.

02:15:30 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Stanley starts with an H.

02:15:31 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, H. Okay. H, how are you, H?

02:15:34 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 1:

I am great. How are you?

02:15:36 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 2:

Good. This is the one who is cheating on her husband with one of their employees. And are you the one that was also planning on serving him divorce papers, too?

02:15:46 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, next week. I got an appointment downtown.

02:15:50 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, this is an early honeymoon for you, I guess.

02:15:53 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You're going to get a chance. Are you a Coldplay fan, or are you going to take the money?

02:15:59 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm going to take the money.

02:16:01 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I like that. That's actually a good one.

02:16:03 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 1:

I ain't got the time to put it up.

02:16:04 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 2:

Give you the options. All right. Well, H, hang on the phone for just one second here. Your moral compass is not what we like to see, but we don't. We just like good radio. That's all we want is good radio. Okay? Thank you. Best of luck.

02:16:19 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:16:21 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 2:

What do you think, H? Are you going to tell them? Hold on. H, are you going to tell them that you were on the radio with us? this morning, or are you going to leave it up to his imagination how the extra money came in?

02:16:33 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to tell him.

02:16:34 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. The boyfriend. You can tell the boyfriend. Hey, I like this show. See if he recognizes you. That sounds like you. Kevin's going to a party this weekend. Got an invite to a party. He read me the invitation. Shannon, I don't think you heard it. You got to hear this invitation.

02:16:54 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 3:

Tell me what stands out to you. I'll skip some of it. It says, come vibe, drink up, and show love. In parentheses, yes, that means gifts too. Do, and in all caps, not come empty-handed. I love y'all, but I'm turning 30, not 13. This person is turning 30 years old, and it's telling me that I have to bring them gifts?

02:17:22 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 1:

Not just a gift. Oh, really good gift, because they're turning 30.

02:17:26 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's the opposite. If you're 13 years old, then yeah, I'm probably going to bring you a gift. If you're 30 years old, why are you asking for gifts?

02:17:34 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you something. I do think 30 deserves a big gift. 30 is a big birthday. However, you do not ask for that. Right. You do not ask for that.

02:17:43 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

I see people usually say no gifts. I've never seen people put on there the gifts.

02:17:48 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 1:

You better bring a good gift is what that says.

02:17:49 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 2:

I think this is called payback for Kevin and his boldness with the way he does things. I don't think so.

02:17:56 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 1:

So first of all, remind us again what you asked for from a friend of yours for your birthday. No, it's not. No. What did you ask for?

02:18:05 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't remember what I asked for. No, I did. What did I ask for, Shannon?

02:18:08 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 1:

You asked for a, I don't know what it's called, but it's like a Mickey Mouse statue.

02:18:13 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a bare brick statue.

02:18:16 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 1:

The price tag, $800.

02:18:19 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was limited though. And his name was Kevin.

02:18:22 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 1:

His friend asked him what he wanted for his birthday. and you sent the link to that.

02:18:27 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 3:

See, that's peer-to-peer communication. This is an invite to like, I don't know, like a party website that they created that you sent to everyone. Yeah. Still peer-to-peer communication just on a larger scale. Hey, Shannon, this is what I want. This is telling the world, look, I'm 30. Y'all better bring gifts. Don't come empty-handed.

02:18:44 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, I want to know if any of our listeners think that this person's out of line for this invitation or is this a legit thing that people do? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, whenever I get invited to parties, the people usually are very much okay with you bringing maybe a beverage or two. Like they'll say, hey, bring something to, a snack to pass. Like I was at a fireworks party last week. It was bring a snack to pass along or

02:19:12 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 1:

to share. Or they'll say- Bring a nap, bring a bottle of wine, bring a drink, whatever.

02:19:18 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 2:

Something like that. I never have seen somebody that will actually say boldly, I want a gift and it better be a good one.

02:19:26 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

The only time I have ever seen people is like a baby shower or a baby shower invitation where they're like, here's the registry. Also, can you bring a gift or can you bring a book and write a message in it so we can start a book collection for a baby? Okay, I totally understand that.

02:19:40 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

That makes sense. Birthday party, you can't do that. And you're still young. You outside. Like, I'm not trying to pull up and bring you. What am I supposed to bring you, sir?

02:19:48 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 2:

Did you get a lot of gifts on your last birthday party that you had?

02:19:52 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

It was a surprise birthday. I got a lot of cards. Like, it was like a card thing. Cards, for sure. But bringing gifts, that's wild.

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 5:

Did you get a little disappointed that there weren't more gifts, like actual gift gifts?

02:20:04 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 4:

Look, I was amazed that it was actually a party and a lot of people showed up to. I was blessed and thankful for that. So I'm not coming in with any expectation, let alone leaving disappointed. Gifts make me uncomfortable.

02:20:15 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't like opening gifts in front of people. I hate it.

02:20:18 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 4:

It's not for you. It's for the person that gave you the gift. Because if your reaction is anything other than what they thought or how they felt you should react, then you suck for some strange reason.

02:20:28 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't like opening gifts in front of people. Like I'm one of those people that if somebody gives me a gift or whatever, I always just let them be and hope that nobody brings them up. And then later when they leave, I'll open them up and talk about them. But I don't like opening in front of people. And I always hated when I was a little kid, and I only had a couple kid parties. One of the kid parties, I remember we had to sit there and all the kids were around me and I was opening up gifts. and there were some kids that gave me like amazing like video games and things like that and then there were some kids that bought me a shirt that guaranteed was not going to fit me like their mom got me something or they got me like i was not a kid that was into art like they got me like crayola crayons or or something i'm like i don't really want this but you have to

02:21:14 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 4:

fake it even at that age or you know how to fake it that's how my grandma got my rest or so grandma alice my dad's mom got pissed at my sister and i for christmas because she was the grandparent that only got clothes. So we're running through and opening up this door to say, I ain't getting you nothing. She was so mad one year.

02:21:31 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 5:

What is considered a good gift for a 30-year-old? Like, what would they consider to be something?

02:21:36 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 4:

Is this a boy or a girl? It's a boy.

02:21:38 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 5:

Wait, it's a boy. It's a man. He's a man. He's a grown-up.

02:21:40 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, sorry. I mean, probably some gym shoes, low-key. That's what I was thinking. He probably wants shoes.

02:21:45 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 5:

I'm about to buy you no shoes. Like, what are you talking about? But do you know his size? Like, how would you do that?

02:21:49 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 4:

Probably get him a gift card to, like, a shoe company or something like that. But like, no, no, not doing that for you.

02:21:56 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 5:

Text fold. Texter here. This is a texter here. Five, eight, six says, Kevin, what kind of friends do you have? Another texter here says that sounds like a invitation to Kevin's next party. That does. I'm telling you, I don't, I think the funniest is it's almost like touche, you know?

02:22:12 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I would say, bring me a bottle. That would be the thing that I would ask for. That friend that I sent the bear brick to, you know, we'll see. I might send that to Mojo. Yeah. Put that in a Mojo and Chelsea group chat. Hey, guys. Hey, guys. Hey, guys.

02:22:29 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 5:

Steve, what's up, Steve? How you doing, buddy? Hello? How you doing, man? What do you think about this? What do you think about them putting the actual bring a gift and don't show up with a cheap one? Like, I'm not 13. I'm 30.

02:22:42 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 2:

Look, he's 30 years old. You need to start dealing with the finer things in life. You get them a 15-year-old bottle of scotch, glint-fit it, and call it good. I mean, that's a good gift.

02:22:55 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 5:

No, that is a great one.

02:22:56 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 1:

That would be a great gift if Kev thought about it himself and brought it and didn't have to be asked to bring it.

02:23:03 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 2:

And what if he's not even into that? That's a good point. That's a good point. I don't ever ask for gifts, but that's just me.

02:23:11 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 5:

I think asking for the gift is the problem, and that's where the problem came into play.

02:23:15 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

And for it to be, to say I'm not, I'm turning 30, I'm not turning 13 is crazy to me.

02:23:21 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 4:

And then when you're 30 years old, could you even think or appreciate a 15-year-old bottle of scotch? I don't think so. You know what I mean? You've got to be older now. Buddy, I'm 31, and I love it.

02:23:32 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 5:

Really? Okay. But I'm saying, like, with this person here being 30 years old and asking for this gift like this, you know what you do? You get them a 13-year-old gift. You find some kind of a game or something like, you know what I mean?

02:23:44 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 4:

Get him a Razor scooter? Yeah. A Nerf gun. Get him a Nerf gun. You too.

02:23:49 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 5:

I have a bunch. I'll give you some. Do you want to know how funny that would be to see him opening up going, oh, I thought you wanted a 13-year-old jam.

02:23:56 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 1:

I got confused.

02:23:58 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:24:12 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. Uh, this is fun. It's summertime. And if you're a parent, you know, summertime is a totally different time being a parent than it is during a school year, right? School year means you have a lot more. Okay, here we go. We got class school to get to. We got afterschool activities, all that stuff. Summertime, it's a fricking free for all, isn't it? And the funniest thing about this is no matter what age your kids are, there are certain summer rules that you have to follow If you are a parent, like, I don't know if you guys remember when you were kids, like my mom and dad had summer rules for us that were different than our rules during the year. The year was we had to do good in school and do our after school activities in the summertime. It was almost kind of like we were, you know, they let, they let us out of prison and we were ready to go.

02:25:00 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, I was talking to Luke, and we were having a conversation about how there's certain things I need from him, even though he's more grown up than he was when he was a kid. And he was telling me, he goes, Dad, no worries. He goes, I'll do this stuff for you and Mom. He goes, because my friend has summer rules. And I said, what are your friend's summer rules? And he says he's got a friend whose dad and mom gave him summer rules while he's home from school. And his summer rules are three things. He's got to be up by at least noon every single day, no matter what day of the week it is, Monday through Sunday. And the second rule, he's got to take a shower every single day. And the third rule is he has to brush his teeth every single day. Those are the three rules that the parents gave him. So he cannot sleep past noon, no matter what day of the week it is. So he's got to make sure that he gets up on time, even if he's out partying all night or doing something all night, playing video games. And then he's got to take a shower and brush his teeth. I want to know from you, and if you're a parent, what are the summer rules for your kids? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Now, you have little kids. You guys have younger kids.

02:26:05 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I don't even require the shower every day. Well, because they swim every single day, and so I'm like, eh. Really? Kind of counts. Wait, so you let the chlorine be the shower? Oh, yeah. To the point where last night, the kids went and played outside with the neighbors and stuff, and I'm like, well, they technically already showered because they rinse off after they get out of the pool. in their swim practice you know but smith's feet were so dirty i was like okay at least you have to take off like a foot shower yeah wash your feet before you get into bed but normally i'm like i have to ask when was the last time you actually took a shower with soap and what's the longest that it's been days wise i don't know because he was like and between mom's house and

02:26:45 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 3:

dad's house i'm not keeping slow now yeah is this like a is this like a shannon thought or is this like a, people do this where like you consider the pool is like

02:26:54 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 5:

a sour. Oh, I think that that's I don't think it's just a Shannon thing.

02:26:58 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 3:

That's a widely adapted philosophy.

02:27:00 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing. You should look into that, by the way. People pissing in the chlorine.

02:27:05 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't think the chlorine's good for their skin. That's just rinse, though.

02:27:08 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 5:

No soap and water or anything like that? Moisturizers? I don't think my children have ever used a moisturizer after they were a baby and I applied it for them. Yeah. What about you?

02:27:18 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 4:

What's the rules that you have?

02:27:20 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm stuck on that. I mean, Josiah's a free-for-out. He can do whatever he wants to do. As long as he goes to sleep. My time is 3 a.m. Like, I tell him, like, you have to be to bed by at least 3 a.m.

02:27:33 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 4:

What time does he have to wake up then? I don't care. Really? I don't care. Because that's Luke's friend's parents are like, I don't care if you're staying up until 4 o'clock in the morning.

02:27:41 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 3:

You're not about to wake up at 1 p.m. and half the day's gone. But that's why I put him in his summer class because I know for myself, I'm extremely laxed. And he'll be waking up whenever, going to sleep whenever, eating whatever he wants. I'm like, no, we got to get some structure at the very least.

02:27:55 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 5:

I'm so lax in the summer.

02:27:57 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 4:

I never thought that Shannon.

02:27:58 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 5:

I can't even think of a summer rule that I have. I really can't.

02:28:01 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 4:

I never thought that Shannon, of all the parents, would be letting her kids walk around, you know, with dirty butt for, like, days. Dirty butt. What's up, Eve? Hi.

02:28:11 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 1:

Hi. My kids would have to do the summer learning books. They'd have to do at least three pages a day.

02:28:17 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that was a big deal.

02:28:19 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm a doctor dietician now, and I have a physician assistant now, so it paid off.

02:28:24 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:28:24 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. That's something learning is important.

02:28:27 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I want you to know that the whole reading thing never happened in our house until the last week before school, and they had to fill out that little, there's summer books or whatever that they had to read.

02:28:38 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 1:

Lucy had to choose two books to read. The library learning and got all the library prizes.

02:28:46 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. She chose two books.

02:28:48 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 5:

She chose two books. She was so smart. She goes, I already read these two, so I'm good. John!

02:28:52 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 4:

That is actually very smart. Nay, what's up? Nay?

02:28:57 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo, what's up?

02:28:59 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? How are you?

02:29:01 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy to get through. This is my first time. I'm listening every morning. Nay, what's up?

02:29:08 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 4:

What summer rules have you got?

02:29:10 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 2:

My kids are three and eight, and my only rule, and I'm like a strict parent. during school time they got to be in bed by eight even a three-year-old because he go to like daycare but my only rule in the summertime because i got to be at work at 7 30 a.m i work 12 hours just at the hospital my only rule is for them not to come in and wake me up i don't care if you don't bother me don't set the house on fire do not wake me up if you wake me up you're going to bed hey

02:29:38 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 4:

wait a second you're talking about how they have to be in bed by eight o'clock how do you get your kids to go to bed when it's still sunny outside she said during the school year oh oh oh what's

02:29:48 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 2:

the summertime uh bed uh bedtime they could do whatever just don't wake me up okay that's don't

02:29:54 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 4:

wake me up part okay yeah i misunderstood you on that one because i was gonna say you can't get a kid to go to bed before

02:30:00 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 1:

10 o'clock when it gets dark. It don't work like that. I'm so happy that Lydia's calling some of these texters. Shannon does not read texts for a reason because she doesn't like the text messengers that go after her. Shannon, there's not one text message here that's not going after you for your parenting right now.

02:30:13 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's okay. That's okay.

02:30:14 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 1:

Dana's one of the texters we just called. What did you want to say, Dana?

02:30:18 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 2:

My kids have, I'm with Shannon. There's no rules. My daughter left last Wednesday to go up north with friends. I thought she was coming home on Sunday. So I sent her a message. I'm like, hey, what time are you going to be home today? She's like, oh, I didn't tell you. We're not coming back until Tuesday. I'm like, oh, okay. Wow. How old's your daughter? I guess I'll be in a few. Well, she's 17.

02:30:41 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing even for a 17-year-old, though.

02:30:44 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 2:

I know. I'm like, maybe we need to communicate a little better.

02:30:47 - 02:30:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'll tell you what, Mom. That ends when she gets the boy that's in her life and you're worried about what's going on with those two.

02:30:54 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, trust me. She's not leaving the house if there's ever a boy in her life. Yeah.

02:30:58 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 1:

There probably is a boy. She's not coming home until Tuesday. I'm telling you. I hope not. You better be careful. Hold on. I thought that was one of the ones, the texters here. That was not. That was actually a caller that called in. This is one of the texters. Ace, what do you want to say to Shannon?

02:31:12 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, what is going on with rue, with hygiene being rue? That should be habit. Wait, what? Shannon, a pool is not a shower.

02:31:27 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 6:

It is. It's water. Come on, man. They good. That's not the sound. Let me tell you something. If my kids don't come in at the end of the day filthy, that is not a good summer day. That is not a good summer day. They did not play hard enough.

02:31:41 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 1:

Ace, I'm not kidding you. I thought Shannon, her kids were, you know, the cleanest kids ever. Now, I don't want to even smell them. I can smell them through her FaceTime when she talks. Right. Although yesterday.

02:31:52 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 4:

They can come in filthy. They just got a shower afterwards.

02:31:55 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 1:

Yesterday, she's FaceTiming Smith.

02:31:56 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 6:

And they're just getting in the pool at 7 the next morning.

02:31:58 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 1:

She's FaceTiming Smith, and his hair is, like, every which way. He's, like, got it all over the place. No wonder. This kid hasn't showered in days.

02:32:05 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 6:

Probably two weeks. I don't know.

02:32:07 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 1:

That is funny. Raven, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about summer rules. Hi, Raven. Hello. What's going on?

02:32:15 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Sorry, I didn't hear my name. Hi.

02:32:18 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

02:32:19 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 3:

I am the meanest mom, and my kids go to bed 7 and 4 every night before 8 o'clock. Even in the summertime. Yeah, because you know what? This mom, I know, I know. This mom needs a break, though, too. That's true. It's for my mental health.

02:32:37 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 1:

No, I get it. That's when you all of a sudden open up the minibar, right, and go grab yourself a cocktail or something?

02:32:45 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and a Netflix.

02:32:47 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly.

02:32:48 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 4:

Seven to four, I can see that. Once they get a little older, you got to loosen up the reins a little bit.

02:32:54 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

But they're not stinky.

02:32:59 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 6:

Summer bedtime is so hard for me because I want to go to bed at like between 9 and 10, and they don't want to go to bed at, you know, 8, 30, 9 o'clock. So it's summer. Trying to figure that out is so tough. Like, I usually just let them watch TV or, like, make, like, a sleepover on the couch with their sleeping bags and stuff so that I can go to bed and they can stay up.

02:33:20 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 1:

I know. Same with this job. It is so tough. What's up, Brandy? Hi.

02:33:24 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I wanted to call in support of Shannon.

02:33:27 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Okay. Are you also another mom that's bad that doesn't let your, doesn't get your kids showered?

02:33:33 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. And I have a pool. And I just want to say that's the same. It's like a chemical shower. Yeah.

02:33:40 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 1:

When is that ever a good thing? When was the last time your kid showered?

02:33:46 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 3:

The last time I asked him, he said it's been two weeks.

02:33:50 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 1:

See, y'all become me crazy. That kid, by the way, has so much bacteria on him. Oh, my God. He's got things growing in places you probably don't want.

02:34:01 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 3:

Maybe we'll have him shower tonight.

02:34:04 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 1:

Please. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

02:34:11 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the morning.

02:34:14 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 5:
