it all right are you ready you're listening to mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

00:02:58 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 10:

all right mojo in the morning show uh and i did not get good sleep last night or did not start

00:03:08 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 1:

off good no oh my gosh I know that I've talked about this before because it's a it's a problem in my building our fire alarms go off way too often and yesterday I got home a little late it might have been like 9 p.m and as I'm walking up to the door I see a crowd of the people that live in my apartment building outside they're in their pajamas they're holding their cats their dogs are barking I'm like what in the world is going on because I had been out all day then it hit me I was like the fire alarms are going off so i peeked my head inside and sure enough they were going off and i stood there for like a minute everyone was looking at me and i was like eff it i'm walking into the flames i know that there's a 95 chance that this is not a real fire so i marched my butt up 10 flights of stairs or however many flights of stairs the elevators don't work when they go no and um walked my butt up all the stairs didn't smell smoke so i'm like i'm fine in my head i'm I'm like, what if the firefighters come and they see me going upstairs instead of out? But yeah, I went up to my apartment, got in bed while the alarms were going off. And I was laying there for maybe like 10 minutes and they finally stopped. So I went into the flames.

00:04:21 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 10:

I didn't realize you live on the 10th floor. That's risky.

00:04:23 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:04:24 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 10:

That would have kept me from walking up.

00:04:27 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 1:

I was out of breath.

00:04:28 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 10:

I would have been like, my ass is staying right down here right now until that elevator starts working.

00:04:33 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:04:34 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 10:

Do you ever have to, like, use the stairs because the elevators are broken at your building?

00:04:39 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 1:

All the time. Oh, you're kidding. I mean, I don't know why I still live in this building.

00:04:42 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 10:

I could not do it. There's no way. Ten flights of stairs?

00:04:46 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and the elevators are broken half the time.

00:04:49 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 10:

We talked about Sleeping Bear Dunes. Yeah. It's like walking up the Sleeping Bear Dunes. You know what's funny is nobody listens to alarms anymore. I know it sounds crazy to say this.

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

But this is just like when you hear an alarm go off in a parking lot. Everybody just goes about their business. And everybody just assumes that it's a false alarm. Fire alarms, scariest thing, that's just as bad.

00:05:14 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

I figured I would smell smoke or something. Like if it was a real fire, I could have been able to tell.

00:05:20 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 5:

I mean, any time the fire alarm has gone off at the radio station, we'd stave our butts right here.

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's because of, you know what it is?

00:05:29 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 5:

is that we we hope it burns like we're at this point right now that is true i do pray for

00:05:36 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

something to allow me to turn around and go back to bed burn this mother down um we've had it before remember we were on the air at times in the old building and the alarm would go off while you were on air and we'd be like hey is that alarm going on what's going on and you'd hear and then all of a sudden like 20 minutes later uh we have a practice alarm we're doing a practice fire alarm um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to know your thoughts on this and i want to know if there's anybody that has ever done what anna did only to have the five percent happen but she says 95 of the time it's not five percent it was i could not imagine if the five percent goes on and you're stuck in there or something bad uh ends up happening to you you know i was just

00:06:27 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 3:

imagining the firefighters like breaking into my apartment and i'm naked in bed because that's

00:06:32 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

carrying you down the stairs in a dramatic rescue oh gosh yeah dream come true right there uh what's

00:06:42 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 1:

up liz hi how are you it's mojo in the morning good good morning how's everybody good morning doing okay thank god anna didn't have a real fire in her building last night right

00:06:52 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 4:

right you know the city of rochester tests their sirens every single day at noon and i feel like the citizens are just desensitized like if there's really an emergency they're gonna ignore it because they're so used to hearing it seven days a week what sirens it's like you know your emergency

00:07:13 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

siren like for tornadoes oh yeah ours is first of the month on saturdays at 1 p.m that it goes off Like, that's ours. And honestly, every time that thing goes off, I freak out. Yeah. I could be pure, beautiful, blue sky, sunshine. That thing goes off. I'm like, son of a bitch.

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yes.

00:07:33 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 1:

Forgetting that. Every single time.

00:07:35 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Most cities, yeah, this is every day. Seven days a week, 365 days a year at noon. They're like crazy.

00:07:42 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

I always tell everybody that. Right. So I like to golf a lot, Liz. And on a golf course, if there's a storm coming or lightning in the area, they'll hit the horn and the horn is loud as hell. Like it basically, though, from the clubhouse, you know, like base and that's telling you to come in. Not a golfer in the world listens to that. Really? And they just continue to keep golfing. And you look up yesterday. This was like this. The skies opened up. Yeah. And I don't know if you saw this, if you had that storm in Rochester, Liz, but that's the storm that came down.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 5:

That was crazy for a minute.

00:08:15 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 1:

And it looked like tornado-ish kind of weather because the sky was kind of moving sideways. Not one person stopped golfing.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Not even you.

00:08:25 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

I did.

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, great. You know why? I was done. Be careful. You wanted an excuse.

00:08:28 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Chelsea just got her hair done. And Chelsea did not want to have it rain on her. Shut up, Chelsea. Chelsea got underneath the cart. She was smart, though. She pulled the thing over our golf club so that the golf clubs didn't get wet. And then she got in there, and I said to her, I go, do you want to just wait it out a little bit? And she's like, my hair is not going to look bad. I understand. I'm not going to allow it. Now, what about you? What if your hair was going to burn?

00:08:54 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

I would get out of there. I would get out of there.

00:08:58 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Mortada? What's happening?

00:09:02 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. So, yeah, basically, I work in the oil field, like on an oil rig. And basically, if the alarm goes off, we have to be all at the monster station within three minutes, and we have to get headcounts.

00:09:16 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 5:

I get that. That's so dangerous.

00:09:19 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 2:

You have no time to, well, like, sometimes the guys think it's a false alarm, and if those guys stay in the rooms, we go after them. So, yeah, there's no space for, you know. Three minutes is not a lot of time.

00:09:33 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

Do you live on the oil rigs there? Like, is it one of those type of things? Yeah. Really?

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Where are you?

00:09:41 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

I work for 28 days straight.

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 5:

Where are you calling us from right now?

00:09:46 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

I am back in Michigan with my wife, but I don't live here. I only come to see her, and then I go back home.

00:09:52 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 1:

Where are the oil fields at? What city, state?

00:09:56 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

It's in the Arabian Gulf or Persian Gulf, if you will. Oh, interesting. That's unreal. That's amazing. Well, it's good to talk to you, buddy. I'm happy you're home.

00:10:04 - 00:10:04 | Unknown:

Good.

00:10:05 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you. Thank you. Well, my missus, sometimes when she drives home, she calls me and we listen to you guys while she's driving if I get a chance. But yeah. That's beautiful. What's her name? I'll have a date with you guys.

00:10:15 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 2:

What's her name we want to say? Well, what's her name?

00:10:17 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Stephanie.

00:10:17 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie. Hey, Stephanie. We appreciate it, buddy. Take care of yourself. Thank you, too. Bye. Bye. See that? You got three minutes.

00:10:26 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

That's life or death, for real.

00:10:28 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 2:

Alicia, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:10:31 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I just wanted to tell Anna, it happened to me last night, too, 10 o'clock. I'm in bed. Fire alarms go off. And it was someone that just burnt their food. Literally every time. So did you stay inside? Actually, we all kind of peeked our head out. I have a very small apartment building. There's only six of us, and we all peeked our head out. Someone kind of went around, but as soon as their door opened, you could smell the food. I'm like, all right, yeah, that's definitely burnt. Surprised you don't have a fire in there.

00:11:02 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

Don't you hate that when you're cooking and the heat or the smoke gets so close to that thing,

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

and you're like waving stuff at the top?

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, that's the worst.

00:11:12 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

Because it goes off, the whole building goes off.

00:11:15 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. That's the worst. And it's always the same offenders that cause it to go off. I guarantee in Anna's case when she goes through this thing, it's the one person that can't figure out how to cook with their windows open. Uh, the big one you got to be careful of is carbon monoxide alarms.

00:11:31 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm telling you, I have, I have friends of mine. I have those on every floor.

00:11:35 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and I have friends of mine that have ignored them before only to find that they had carbon monoxide all over their place.

00:11:42 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 5:

That's no joke. That'll kill you.

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 2:

It will. Kendall, what's up? Hi.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:11:47 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Kendall was the 5%. What happened, Kendall?

00:11:50 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

um there was a huge storm last year in about march and uh there was a electrical wire that we're thinking got struck by lightning and arced on our building and caught fire whoa and so the

00:12:08 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 2:

alarm went off did you think it was a fake alarm or was it legit well i actually wasn't home but

00:12:15 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

my neighbor was and he heard it and just ran out didn't even grab his phone or anything and yeah next thing you know everything's on fire oh my god that's crazy did the building burn down or how how did it yeah um if you want to you can look it up it's you march 15th 2025 adrian michigan fire and there's news articles pictures videos everything thank god you weren't home what's the worst thing you lost in the fire um probably everything oh every yeah a lot of my a lot of my great-grandparents stuff so that one really oh that's devastating yeah that's yeah that's that's

00:13:00 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

awful well thank you for the call we appreciate it yeah no problem have a great day now don't you feel bad yeah yeah i do 10 flights of stairs i'm telling you i wouldn't want that exercise i

00:13:13 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 4:

I needed it.

00:13:13 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 2:

At that point right there, I'm sleeping out on the sidewalk on Woodward Avenue. I'm like, right there. I'm hanging out. You know, that's awful. Ten flights of stairs. Randy was telling me, the old engineer that left here, you know, that JLB used to be in the Penobscot building. Oh, it did? I asked him, I said, what was the worst day you ever had here? And he goes, well, 9-11 was really, really bad. And I go, yeah. And he goes, oh, no, no, no, no. Here you go. worst day ever was I had to walk up all the flights of stairs in the Penobscot building to go to the tower up on the top of the roof because the elevators weren't working. Oh, that had to take. And they never worked, by the way. That building. Alright, we'll be right back. It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:13:57 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 3:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:14:06 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 2:

Alright, your chance to win T.I. tickets. T.I. is going to be at the Fillmore. This was the year, and we're going back for this one, where Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears officially broke up. I asked her if everything

00:14:19 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 1:

was okay, and she said, no, not, things are not okay, because look, and she held out her flip phone, and I saw this text, which said, it's over, which was from her boyfriend at the time, Justin Timberlake. Lilo

00:14:34 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 2:

and Stitch hit theaters.

00:14:36 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind

00:14:44 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

or forgotten. And it's funny, I hated them when they were out, but now I love them for some reason. Nickelback. Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened.

00:14:55 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665.

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

What year was it, Gary? It was 02. It was.

00:15:06 - 00:15:06 | Unknown:

Yay.

00:15:07 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 4:

Yay. What gave it away? Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. The devastation. Yes. I always thought they would get back together. I was hoping that they would get back together. I wonder if the Justin thing was her downfall.

00:15:21 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 2:

I think maybe that started a spiral.

00:15:23 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 4:

Kind of hurt her so much. We're going to set you up with TI tickets. Congratulations. T.I. is going to be at the Fillmore, and we're giving you tickets to that show. Congrats to you.

00:15:34 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 1:

Thanks a lot, Mojo.

00:15:35 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 4:

Man, first time, long time, by the way.

00:15:37 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:15:41 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 4:

When Kev is out, it's not as big of a thing. I mean, we try our best. But, Gary, make sure the next time that you do call, which there better be a next time, that you also say, last time Kev was on vacation, I want a Kev shout-out, okay? So you can get to Kevin. All right, I got you covered. Carry on the phone. See that? Doesn't sound as good with me. Hey, you didn't sound too bad, Mojo. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate that. You're a good man. Hang on one second. We'll get you your TI tickets. We got Morgan Wallen tickets. Your chance to go see Morgan Wallen right now. Text in to win. Text Wallen. W-A-L-L-E-N to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. You can win a pair of tickets.

00:16:25 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30.

00:16:27 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon with What is Trending and The Dirty on the 30.

00:16:30 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 2:

So yesterday, NFL analyst Ryan Clark was addressing his firing from ESPN on social media. Remember, he learned he was laid off during his actual shift on Monday's NFL Live. He wrote, proof of life. Before the madness of yesterday, I woke up, got in my tundra, drove to Planet Fitness, and got to work. The rest of the day was eventful, but the journey continues. My peace is with God and my humility comes from within. I will continue to build myself so the world can never strip me of what's real. I was getting moving today, y'all.

00:17:04 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 4:

The Planet Fitness people had to love that because it was like such a great social post for them.

00:17:10 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I love that the world can never strip me of what's real. Stephen A. Smith, by the way, commenting on the firing of his First Take colleague.

00:17:18 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 1:

A person that I consider to be arguably the best NFL analyst in America. And I can't even tell y'all how much that hurts. There's nobody that's going to be let go that was more of a friend and a brother to me than Ryan Clark. It's a real shame some of the narratives they'll try to create doesn't bother me when people disagree with me. Because that stirs the cup and that's what makes all of us better. It only bothers me when they get ill-informed and they get personal. And Ryan Clark is somebody that was a man amongst boys when it came to stuff like that. There's nothing that he'd say on social media or on television that he wouldn't tell you to your face. He's not somebody that I just loved working with. He's somebody that I love, period, that I will always be here for.

00:17:59 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 4:

So they're saying that there's two factions at ESPN. And by the way, Carl Ravitch got let go yesterday, which I was really sad to see that. 30 years at the network. He was honestly one of the better both SportsCenter hosts, but also he did baseball, including the Little League World Series every year. But they said there's two factions at ESPN. There's two big guys that get paid there. it's steven and pat mcafee and they say they pay those guys so much money because truly and honestly i'm a fan of espn and i think that this is true i don't watch anything else but steven a and pat

00:18:37 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 2:

mcafee i rarely watch other stuff of pat mcafee talking about this yesterday because i think he had jj later or uh it doesn't matter if you want to play it now that's fine i'll play it later too But he was talking to J.J. Watt yesterday, and that came up, actually.

00:18:52 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 3:

Did they buy NFL Network this year? Who? They did. Did they? That's crazy. Did they keep anybody, or is everybody fired to pay you? I'm trying to figure it out. That's not funny. That's not funny. We do not like that. We do not appreciate that. That is the narrative, and I'm certainly taking it on the shins. The boys and I are very proud of the work that we have done. Thanks a lot, Moana. Good God. I mean, come on. All right, okay. Just play the hits with Doomsday or whatever. Okay, all right. We're not getting into any of that. My YouTube TV didn't work for a while, too. Don't forget that. That's quite the dispute. Please, now. Goodness. It was a long time. It was a lot of money. But on that note, we hate any time this happens. Obviously, this is terrible. We don't like that. But we are very honored that we are still partnering with ESPN and Disney for the good of sport for the future.

00:19:39 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 2:

We'll talk about this later, too. Pixar, Disney Pixar let a lot of people go yesterday.

00:19:44 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 4:

They just had the biggest toy story ever.

00:19:48 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:19:48 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the whole thing? Wow. I know. I know. All right.

00:19:51 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 2:

00:21:20 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 4:

way, CVS is driving me crazy. They call me every freaking day to tell me that I got to pick up a prescription that I don't need.

00:21:26 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 2:

00:21:46 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 2:

We love our mojo.

00:21:48 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 3:

Back to Mojo in the morning.

00:21:50 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. We got these Morgan Wallen tickets that we're going to be giving away. They're coming up here in just a little bit. I was watching the news last night, and let me see if I can pull this up, because when I saw it, I was like, there is no freaking way that this is possible. We're going on Friday night, by the way.

00:22:17 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so is Lydia and Bianca, right?

00:22:20 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, fantastic. We should carpool because I got to be honest with you. It's going to be a mess to try to find parking. I don't know.

00:22:27 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 5:

Lydia said you got parking. I got parking.

00:22:30 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

Where did you get parking?

00:22:31 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 5:

A listener who works at the AAA across the street said that he would save me a spot.

00:22:36 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 4:

Wow. At the AAA. What is that?

00:22:39 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 5:

Shout out to Joe Costa. Yeah, he has like a spot for me right across from the big house.

00:22:46 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 4:

Don't go, anybody go there and say, I'm Lydia.

00:22:48 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 5:

Do not do that.

00:22:50 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 4:

You know who Lydia is. Please. So hold on a second. So Fox 2 did this story. Here, let me play this first.

00:22:55 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 3:

At Michigan Stadium, if you're headed to Ann Arbor this weekend, getting there may be the easy part. But finding a place to park, well, that could be a real challenge. Fox 2's Dave Spencer is live in Ann Arbor with news you can use on what concert goers really need to know when they get there. Hey there, Dave. News you can use.

00:23:11 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's going to be a lot of them, Roop, and I'm standing at Pioneer High School here. This is considered premium parking for this event. You can see why over my shoulder is the big house. Now, we were contacted by somebody via email who says, hey, am I being scammed here? I paid $150 to park at the parking lot here at this high school. So we started looking into it, and it turns out, no, this is not a scam. In fact, that person got a deal parking here at this exact lot, $175 now. And that's, if you're going to park an RV, that's going to cost you hundreds of dollars, more than that. Roughly 150,000 Morgan Wallen fans are expected over the course of the two concerts this weekend. That's a lot of people looking to park. The University of Michigan says many of the official campus lots have already sold out in advance. The rest will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Those living... Wow. Is that crazy?

00:24:05 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 2:

That's insane.

00:24:06 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Would they say $150? holy cow, $150 to park. I mean, there has to be some sort of law. There has to be. There is no reason why parking should be that expensive. And I get the idea that, you know, hey, they got to make, they got to redeem their money or somehow. Well, you know what? No, you don't. You know, if you're the high school, which it seems to me like they're the ones making the the deal this is like money in your pocket for you you know otherwise you just got an empty parking lot and with a you know i know a game day and somebody needs to tell me on tailgating do they charge you crazy amount of money to tailgate there because i don't i'm not a tailgater

00:24:48 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 5:

yeah like what i would i've gone to ann arbor it's a lot too like it's minimum sixty dollars

00:24:53 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 4:

minimum to park yes but what about so i wonder if if you want to tailgate it's probably like

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

over a thousand dollars what

00:24:59 - 00:25:01 | Unknown:

You

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:25:01 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 3:

Do they pay the, or do they charge the tailgaters, like, crap loads of money like that?

00:25:06 - 00:25:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think you can, like, buy spots, but I think it's, like, resell, you know? Like, people buy these spots at the beginning of the year, and they resell them.

00:25:14 - 00:25:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, I know that most people that tailgate there, it seems like every week or every game day, they're there in the same spots all the time. They got the whole thing.

00:25:24 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 2:

Same thing with MSU. MSU is the same way.

00:25:25 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, I think most, but what I'm trying to say is $150 for just putting your car there. Like I get charging you 150 bucks if you're going to tailgate there because you're going to be setting up a huge area of, of near tailgate. But just for my car, you know what I mean?

00:25:41 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 2:

I think you're better off Ubering.

00:25:42 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, the problem is going to be finding Uber's home.

00:25:45 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 4:

There's going to, you're not.

00:25:47 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:25:47 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 4:

There's not enough. You're walking for 75,000 people.

00:25:50 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 3:

Most of the guys I know that Uber are driving people to and from, and people are paying for them to stay there.

00:25:56 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:25:57 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

So we're doing that. Actually, George from Sixth Alon lent us his buddy Buddha. Oh, nice. And Buddha's driving us. Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, rocking everywhere. Buddha, Buddha, Buddha. He hates when I call him up. I'm like, he answers the phone. Hello? I go, Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, rocking everywhere. What's going on, Joe? How you doing?

00:26:18 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 5:

Hello, Joe. Good morning. Hey, how's it going, everyone?

00:26:21 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 3:

It's going okay. I feel like there's a little gouging going on in Ann Arbor.

00:26:25 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so pricing in Ann Arbor for the games are generally really expensive. But, I mean, we have places down the street from us that are charging $175, upwards of $200 for parking spots. That is nuts. That's stupid. Yeah. And so at AAA, you know, our parking's $100, and that's a bargain. At this point, it's right across the street from the stadium. We actually just about sold out. But, Mojo, if you need a spot, I got you. Just let me know, and I'll get you on the list. It's easy in, easy out.

00:26:54 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait. So this is Joe, Lydia's Joe, right? Lydia's friend. Okay. All right. I kind of like you, buddy. I don't know. I mean, not that I don't, you know. I like that you're not going to be gouging. But question, Joe, because you know the Ann Arbor. A football game is not $150, right, if I come out for a game or even a basketball game at Chrysler?

00:27:16 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 5:

No. Also, basketball games, they don't really charge a lot for parking there. For a normal football game, you're going to pay, if you buy the freeway, about $40. If you get closer to the stadium, closer to $100.

00:27:27 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:27:28 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right, Joe.

00:27:29 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 4:

And ticket prices were already so expensive.

00:27:32 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for taking care. Joe, I'm in the blue lot. I'm in the blue lot. Look at you. I'm in the blue lot. I wish you luck, Mojo. I got some connections with my friends over at Michigan Medicine. Shout out to Chris Shoemaker. Got me in the blue lot.

00:27:49 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to be able to get out? Yeah, that's the thing.

00:27:52 - 00:27:53 | Speaker 3:

I never thought about it.

00:27:53 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes I think it's better if you park far away and then you walk a long way. I agree. When you leave, like when I go to concerts, I park at MGM so I can just get out.

00:28:01 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm staying overnight. I'm sleeping there in my car. What's going on, Jonathan? How you doing?

00:28:07 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Hey, so I'm a local, grew up in Ann Arbor, and you just asked one of the best questions. How are you going to get out of the blue lot? So, Zach, let's go back to Zach Bryan for about 10 seconds. It took people two to three hours to get out of the blue lot after Zach Bryan. Oh, geez. So, the bigger, yes. So, just wear your patience and whatnot.

00:28:29 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 3:

Guess what time I'm leaving the concert? After three songs. I'm out of there.

00:28:35 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 4:

So, if you're looking for a spot, the flat lots and the structures in downtown Arbor are a mile and a half walk, and they're charging a $20 flat rate.

00:28:45 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:28:46 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 4:

A mile and a half.

00:28:48 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm not walking a mile and a half.

00:28:50 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 4:

He's never walked a mile and a half.

00:28:51 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 3:

I'd rather leave before all the good songs.

00:28:55 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 4:

And then Bridewood Mall has free parking and that's another mile and a half. There are some other spots off South Industrial that are charging under 100 bucks and they're about a mile, mile and a half walk. And the big issue is there's so many out-of-towners that this isn't Michigan's fault. It's not really anybody else. But, yes, they are price gouging. But the problem is, is once the concert is over, all the traffic is going in different directions.

00:29:27 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:29:27 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 4:

So the Ann Arbor Police Department posted a video yesterday and said, park in the direction you want to go home. So if you are wanting to go north, you should park on the north side of the stadium. If you want to go south, you're going to go down Main Street towards 94.

00:29:40 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 1:

Makes sense.

00:29:41 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 3:

That's so smart. Yeah.

00:29:42 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 1:

So is the blue lot in the right direction?

00:29:47 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I don't know what directions I'm horrible

00:29:50 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 2:

I'm just going to be sleeping in the backseat

00:29:52 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to leave that up to Buddha Buddha Buddha

00:29:54 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Last time I went to Michigan Me and Bryce went for that parade when the championship Happened

00:30:00 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 3:

Uh, we did park at the mall and then we shuttled. We took like the, the Michigan bus.

00:30:04 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you think this man would ever step foot on a shuttle?

00:30:07 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 3:

No, but I have a smart bus. I go, Kevin, I, Kevin, I smart bus to work every day. What's going on, Stephanie? How you doing?

00:30:15 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I just wanted to call in and say that we, I went to the Zach Bryant concert at the big house and I did not have, um, parking lined up. Yeah. And they were actually homeowners that were selling tickets or selling parking.

00:30:31 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 3:

How much did they charge?

00:30:34 - 00:30:45 | Speaker 5:

How much? So we parked there. And then just speaking with the homeowners, they said they used all that money from events to pay their property taxes.

00:30:46 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Hey, it's smart. And they're expensive property taxes in Ann Arbor. What's up, Haley? How you doing? Hey, how are you guys this morning? Good. What's going on?

00:30:58 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 4:

I was just going to say that my boyfriend is working in Ann Arbor right now, and there's a parking garage on Forest. It's going to be 75 for the concert, and it's about a 20-minute walk from U of M. So it might be a little bit of a walk. Now, that's more doable. Yeah. It'll put you out of the craziness.

00:31:13 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 3:

20 minutes is more doable than an hour or so of walking. A mile and a half. But I walk slow, so it's not 20 minutes. It'll be like a 45-minute walk. Kim, you went to Zach Bryan last year. How much did you pay for your parking?

00:31:25 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 6:

$100 at Pioneer High School and this year they're price gouging and it's $175.

00:31:32 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 3:

They got to make the money. They got to make the bucks. Yeah, that sucks. Are you going to the concert? Will you be there?

00:31:40 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm going both days. So I'm getting price gouged two days in a row.

00:31:45 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 3:

$400 in parking. We'll see you Friday night, okay?

00:31:49 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. See you there.

00:31:50 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, look for Lydia, Bianca, myself, Chelsea. We're going to have a whole bunch of people with us. All right. We've got...

00:31:57 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 1:

00:32:42 - 00:32:45 | Speaker 2:

I had salmon. My family had beef tenderloin.

00:32:45 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait a second. You had salmon, but they had beef tenderloin. That seems like...

00:32:50 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 6:

Are you pescatarian?

00:32:52 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:32:53 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 3:

00:32:59 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 2:

00:32:59 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 3:

00:33:01 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 2:

Maybe you love salmon.

00:33:03 - 00:33:10 | Speaker 3:

00:43:47 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 1:

00:44:14 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings.

00:44:39 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 4:

Good night to meet you. Good night.

00:44:41 - 00:44:42 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:44:42 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mama.

00:44:45 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 1:

All right, coming up here in a few, we are going to have a chance for you to win in our summer of cars, cash, and gas. So be with us for that. Gordon Chevrolet, giving you an opportunity to win a brand new 2026. Chevy Trax, loaded vehicle, or $20,000? It's Mojo in the morning. I'd like to take a moment here, if I could. And I don't want to, like, body shame somebody. But I don't think you can body shame somebody with a good body. You know what I mean? Like, I don't think that that's possible, to body shame a good body. I would like to talk about the guy who is my neighbor, who I call him tarps-off guy now. I used to call him shirtless guy, but now it's tarps off because that's like the thing to do. It's the Tigers. Yeah. People. Everybody does it at Tigers games. They do them in all sporting events now.

00:45:36 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Not everybody.

00:45:37 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 1:

Not all. Well, just seems like a bunch of college guys, right?

00:45:41 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 2:

A lot of them.

00:45:42 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

It's usually white college guys, too. You ever notice that, too? Yeah.

00:45:45 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 2:

It's very specific demographic.

00:45:46 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 1:

I've noticed a couple of times when I've gone to a game, it's literally like fret boys. Yeah. I was going to say, I could see Luke doing that. Oh, Luke's done it five times. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's five times tarps off. But this neighbor of mine is the shirtless guy who, he does everything shirtless. And when I talk about this, I want you to picture this in your head. When he is cutting his lawn, shirtless, okay? Pair of shorts on, shirtless, cutting the lawn. Walking his dogs, there's shirtless guy walking by. Going to get his mail, shirtless. I have not seen him, this is no joke, with a shirt on. Actually, at some point, I actually wanted to bring him some Mojo in the Morning shirts. Lydia, did Rick Letterman give us any shirts with any of the stuff that we had or no?

00:46:38 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I have some hoodies too.

00:46:40 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 1:

I would like to bring him a shirt to see if he would actually wear a shirt. I don't think he will. Do you guys know who I'm talking about though? It's the guys who literally, and this is no joke, never have a shirt on. I'm not talking about occasionally they don't have a shirt on. never have a shirt off. But you said this guy's in shape? Oh, he's a guy. Yeah. No, he's not like me with a belly and flab and stuff like that. He is like, he's kind of a perfect guy.

00:47:06 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 2:

So is he show-off guy?

00:47:09 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 1:

Here's the thing. Is he married? It's a little... Oh, yeah. Oh, he's married. I wonder what his wife thinks about. Pretty wife. Pretty little wife. She's never shirt off. Because I just

00:47:20 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 2:

think if Wes did that, going to the mailbox, okay, fine. Like, I feel like I've gone to the mailbox and like my pajama, whatever. But if Wes was like mowing our grass all the time, shirtless, it wouldn't even be a jealousy thing. I would be like, dude, don't be that guy. Put a shirt on.

00:47:36 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's kind of funny with, with this. I'm the guy that wears a shirt all the time. Like I have no, I, I wear a shirt when I'm swimming sometimes.

00:47:45 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, you hear it in situations where I actually think it's weird to be wearing a shirt.

00:47:51 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Sex with my wife. i do not want to hit her in the head with my boobs like they're you know what i mean swinging you're on top boom boom boom boom it's like slapping her in the face going on um it's funny because i was trying to picture this like when i come home like you know how women always say the moment i come home i take the bra off like yes the best feeling do you guys do you do that like absolutely do you ever do it in your car on the way home like sometimes do you lydia do you are you a bra off uh girl i know that uh i know yeah yeah so do you bra off like on your way home

00:48:27 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 2:

or do you bra off the moment you sometimes i just bra off the entire day i'll show up to work with no bra on never noticed that good that means you're not i actually thought about it a couple times when tony's like hey i want to talk to you for a second i was like uh-oh could you imagine

00:48:43 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

by the way if shirts off guy goes to work and his boss says i want to talk to you and he walks into the office with shirts off you know what i mean yeah um 844 mojo live is telephone number 844-665-6548 do women like the the shirts off guy like do you do you look at that because i've asked chelsea

00:49:03 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 2:

and chelsea's like yeah you know chelsea's like hey remember we talked about this recently when i saw the guy on the side of the road walking his little fluffy dog and he had his shirt off and he was very tan. It doesn't really do anything for me. It does not do a dang thing for me either. And he was, I'm talking ripped, ripped. And I was like, meh. It's actually kind of the opposite for me. Me too. It's a turn off. Even at the gym when people have their shirts off. Oh, huge turn off.

00:49:30 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 1:

All right, can you, you can't do that at Planet.

00:49:32 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

00:49:33 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 1:

You can't shirts off at Planet.

00:49:34 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 2:

No?

00:49:35 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so.

00:49:36 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you can't.

00:49:37 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 1:

No, I think that that's, but you go to some gyms. Yeah. Like, what the hell is the...

00:49:43 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 2:

I feel like powerhouse. Powerhouse has got to be, yeah. CrossFit gyms, yeah. Yeah.

00:49:47 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Every Chaldean dude shirts off at a powerhouse, I can guarantee you.

00:49:52 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 2:

I don't like that.

00:49:53 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Security guard Anthony, one of our Mojo in the Morning Misfits, wants to say something to me. What's up, Anthony?

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, family? How y'all doing?

00:50:02 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 2:

Doing fantastic, buddy. What's happening?

00:50:05 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 4:

All right. So, Mojo, originally I've been calling in trying to get their morning walling tickets, but I want to tell you something. You need to embrace your big guyness, okay? Take that damn shirt off, man.

00:50:16 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 2:

I can't. I can't do it.

00:50:17 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 4:

Take that damn shirt off. I'm the same way, dude. Like, I take my shirt off. I'm going to the mailbox shirt off. I cut my grass shirt off. And Shannon has seen me. I'm not a small guy.

00:50:27 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 3:

You're not. You're a big teddy bear.

00:50:30 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 2:

I like the shirts off guys that are a little bit bigger because those are the guys that can, like, rest a natty right on your, like, belly, you know?

00:50:38 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 4:

I mean, dude, like, it's been times where I've set a bowl of cereal on my stomach and just ate it like that. Like, dude, for real.

00:50:45 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 6:

What makes you want to take the shirt off?

00:50:48 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 4:

Is it comfort? Just the fact that I can. Like, big guys are in now. I don't understand why people don't understand that. Like, we are here. We taking over, you know? Please.

00:51:00 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Morgan Wallen tickets coming up here soon, so be listening for that. Mackenzie, what's up, Mackenzie? How you doing? Good, how are you? I'm doing okay. I wish I could look like shirts off guy, you know?

00:51:15 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 6:

Yes. First time, long time. Hey!

00:51:19 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, hold on. There you are. Good morning.

00:51:25 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 5:

I actually hate wearing pants.

00:51:26 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, now you're talking. Wait a second. so what do you do what do you what do you walk around in my t-shirt my underwear that's it

00:51:34 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 3:

i'm kind of in the same boat yeah it's funny you talk about bra off i am like a underwear and pants

00:51:42 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

when i get home you're winnie the pooh in it all the time you guys no i like i'll keep

00:51:47 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 3:

it depends so if i'm home alone and i'm taking a nap i'll usually just wear a shirt and either just a shirt and underwear or just a shirt and like little shorts no underwear same

00:51:58 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Why does that remind me of like one of those, you know, movies from the 90s or whatever, 80s movies like those, you know, 16 Candles and stuff like that? The whole shirt with underwear. T-shirt and underwear, yeah. It's just a vibe.

00:52:12 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:52:12 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Jenny, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

00:52:16 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I have a neighbor that does the same thing as your neighbor. No shirt, mowing the grass, everything. And everybody in the neighborhood calls him Johnny Bravo.

00:52:26 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 2:

i love it it's funny all of us guys talk crap about shirtless guy the women actually go outside it seems like when he's cutting his lawn there's something to it i guess we're jealous but i guess

00:52:40 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 3:

i feel like that's more appropriate though because there is a guy in my neighborhood he lives like kitty corner from me and when he mows the grass he mows it in his full business attire what oh Swear to God, long-sleeve collared shirt, khaki pants.

00:52:54 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't want to dirty anything. No, he's fancy.

00:52:57 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 3:

It's like he comes home from work and immediately just pulls out the lawnmower and goes. I got no time to change. You know what I mean? Every single week.

00:53:07 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea says I change three times a day. I give her too much laundry. This guy, he's a good guy. Chelsea, you should be married to that guy. It's so weird, though. Khaki pants guy.

00:53:16 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 3:

Even if it's hot outside, long-sleeve shirt, khaki pants.

00:53:19 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's like a bougie way to cut your lawn. What's up, Michelle?

00:53:25 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 6:

Well, hello, guys. How are you? Good morning. What's going on? I just want to say, Shannon and Anna, something wrong with y'all. Why? Because a back, shirtless, muscles with cats. Honey. Okay.

00:53:40 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 5:

Honey.

00:53:41 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 6:

Girl. Honey. Oh, my God. I got my guy. I just stared his back all day. Really? I can tear his back all day.

00:53:50 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't know why it gives me the ick, but it kind of does. I don't know why either, girl.

00:53:55 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to send you a picture of his back.

00:54:01 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 2:

Love you, Nichelle. Take care.

00:54:03 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 6:

Love you guys.

00:54:03 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 2:

00:57:35 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 5:

How did any of this get made? Why do we think that was a good idea? We're ready to talk about it.

00:57:39 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 3:

And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Kreisel, the mayor himself, Kyle McLaughlin, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more.

00:57:52 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 5:

Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised, not just words, but a song, a melody. Well, I thought he was going to write, I thought you were all going to write a song. I remember you thinking that.

00:58:02 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 3:

Listen to Podlandia Ayo Rewatch on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:58:16 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 7:

talk and twitch this is mojo in the morning all right we're going to give you a chance right now

00:58:21 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 2:

to win a brand new car so we do it 7 30 and 8 30 weekday mornings on the 14th of august we are going to be giving that car away so we just have a few more weeks to do this win a 50 gas card to fuel up from kroger and kroger delivery and qualify for a brand new car from gordon chevrolet on Ford Road, just west of Merriman in Garden City, Michigan, where you can shop online at gordonchevrolet.com. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I just went real quick to the bathroom, and then I walked outside just for a second just to kind of feel the air a little bit. I know it sounds weird to do that, but the sun is shining. It looks beautiful.

00:59:05 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 9:

It looks just like cleaner out there. Yeah.

00:59:08 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 2:

I mean, think of the difference of what it was on Thursday of last week when you knew the sun was somewhere, but it was hidden behind all the smoke and everything, and it was hot like a mother effa.

00:59:20 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 4:

And humid.

00:59:21 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 2:

It was all, and humid. It just feels good. Oh, I love it. All right. Let's get to the dirty.

00:59:28 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:31 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30, it's a happy Wednesday, Shannon.

00:59:35 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, it's a happy Wednesday. i'm not starting off with a happy story but i i wanted to do this story because i teased it from last hour so despite toy story 5 like you said closing in now around a billion dollars at the box office which is just crazy it's actually set to become disney's top earner around 100 pixar staff members were laid off yesterday um pixar so fired pixar

01:00:00 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 2:

taking the brunt of a new round of layoffs across disney's film division with most of those cuts hitting production and operations guys huh it's ai yeah ai is killing us right now it absolutely is and a disney spokesperson telling me several hundred jobs are also being eliminated across corporate units including espn which we saw with ryan clark on monday so here's the i mean listen

01:00:25 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 1:

and I know that TV has got some issues, right? TV advertising has not been great. Pixar, they've had movie issues over the years with lack of box office, but they've gotten some good ones going on right now. I do think that, I think there's a spending issue too. Like I think like when I look at things, they're spending way too much money to make certain things and they're probably spending way too much at ESPN, which is the parent company uh you know disney is has both of those they spent way too much money paying these leagues for these you know contracts like the nfl and you know uh i don't know and mlb and stuff but i do think that there's so much right now the economy sucks and i think that there's an issue when it comes to ai taking a lot of people's jobs a lot of times they can sit there and look at it as that AI could do it for a lot cheaper, you know?

01:01:24 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Probably faster.

01:01:26 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Unfortunately, I think that we're swinging so far in that direction that there's going to be a course correction at some point, and they're going to miss some of these actual human beings.

01:01:35 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 1:

The problem is, you know, where people are making money and where they're having to turn to? Our listener from the 5 of 655 who had to go to DoorDash. Everybody's having to DoorDash now and try to, you know, So, I mean, what was her name from the 50655, our challenger today, Lydia?

01:01:51 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 2:

Was it Amanda? No. Yes, Amanda.

01:01:54 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Amanda. Amanda's plant's not reopening right now. For two weeks. That's bad. Like, that is not a good sign. So, I mean, I hate to bring this down, and we were going to have a happy Wednesday, I guess, you know, but this is realistic, right? We've got to look at this.

01:02:08 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. If you saw La La Land, remember that movie from a couple of years ago, you'll understand this story. It is a wish come true for Ryan Gosling.

01:02:17 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

This is my Hail Mary attempt to fix my La La Hand.

01:02:22 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 2:

Three, two, one, go!

01:02:26 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, he got a new poster, movie poster. So in the movie poster for La La Land, his hand looks flat. Yeah, flat, it looks awkward. So he, after that movie became so popular.

01:02:42 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 2:

It's like haunted him. Yeah. He's hated it.

01:02:44 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 1:

And they finally, for the fact that they love him and there's the anniversary of La La Land, he's getting a new picture.

01:02:51 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the film is celebrating its 10th anniversary. So they're actually going to do like an anniversary re-release to certain theaters. And so when you see the poster at the theater right now, it has been fixed, which he has been wanting. Jennifer Garner, speaking of movie news, and Judy Greer may be filming a 13 going on 30 reboot or sequel. I don't really know what to call it, but I say that because they were spotted filming in Santa Monica, California. A few different people sent me videos and photos of them doing this, and it sure looks like that's what it is. If you saw the first movie, I absolutely loved that movie. I think it's going to land at Netflix, and they've been keeping everything under wraps. No details are out about the plot yet, but if you loved the first one, you're going to love whatever's coming next. and a little snafu with the celebration for the opening of the Gordie Howe Bridge. It is not happening. Canada called it off because they're not too happy about President Trump imposing, excuse me, all of those news tariffs on pretty much all Canadian goods.

01:03:55 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 1:

Here's Governor, this is a clip of Governor, this is not the story. This is a clip of Governor Whitmer talking about them doing that, yeah. I must have given you the wrong signals. I'm sorry.

01:04:05 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's okay. There you go.

01:04:06 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 3:

We are feeling the brunt of all the continuing fluctuation in terror policy, the chaos that has been coming out in Washington, D.C. since the beginning of this administration in D.C. It hurts Michigan heavier than any other state because we are so heavily manufacturing, as well as auto manufacturing and agriculture.

01:04:28 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 1:

So let me ask this question, and I think that this might be the case. They're not doing a big grand opening of the bridge. Canada is going to have their thing on their side. America is going to have their thing on their side. But they are opening the bridge, right? Correct.

01:04:42 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be open for traffic. Which I believe on Monday. But they're not going to do a big ribbon cutting. But the ribbon cutting was supposed to happen on Friday, and that's not happening.

01:04:51 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Now, this is interesting because, and this is something that just became news this morning, Trump.

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 3:

is going to be here on Friday, but he's not going to be anywhere near the bridge. I think he's going to be campaigning for somebody in Oakland County. I don't know who it is. Maybe the people running for Senate or something like that, Mike Rogers.

01:05:11 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 1:

So Trump is coming on Monday.

01:05:16 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is it Monday?

01:05:17 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 1:

Yes, on Monday, he is going to be, yeah, so the same day as the opening of the bridge. But again, him coming has nothing to do

01:05:26 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 3:

with the opening of the bridge. It's wild. That bridge looks great. It looks beautiful.

01:05:32 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 2:

I like the pedestrian crossing, too.

01:05:34 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 3:

I like that, too. I have friends of mine that say that they're worried about the traffic it's going to bring to the area just by the bridge. So I'm wondering what is that going on. Is it good traffic, bad traffic? You know what I mean?

01:05:46 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Are they keeping the ambassador? That's what I was going to say. Where do you get on?

01:05:49 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 3:

The ambassador is still there.

01:05:50 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Where do you get on to the Gordie Hill Bridge? I don't know. Somewhere in southwest, I think.

01:05:56 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't know exactly either.

01:05:57 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 2:

So very similar, right in the area.

01:06:00 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 3:

You know, I never do the ambassador, though.

01:06:02 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Me neither. I always go to the tunnel. Yeah. But I feel like now there's going to be more options for people to take, so it should be freeing up space.

01:06:10 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm hoping that that will actually alleviate a lot of the stress of the ambassador bridge.

01:06:14 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. All right, if you miss anything from today, you can always catch up by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

01:06:20 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 3:

Missed something in the dirty on the 30? Listen to our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com. It's funny, you asking, like, where do you get on? Wherever Waze tells me to get on.

01:06:29 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm the same way.

01:06:31 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea, street names or anything. I just go with my GPS, and that's pretty much it the entire time. Hold on a second. We got a winner. It's Mike. Are you there, Mike?

01:06:42 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I am here.

01:06:44 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mike's a winner. Congratulations to you. Woo-hoo. Woo-hoo. Mike, we're going to set you up, buddy. We got a $50 gas card for you, and you're now qualified for a brand-new car, $28,000 car, or the cash. Which one would you choose?

01:07:02 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 4:

I would probably choose the cash, being as I'm retired, I'd pay off a little debt, maybe take a vacation.

01:07:09 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. I like it. Gordon Chevrolet would be writing you a nice, big, fat check. Our good friend Mike Porter over at Gordon Chevrolet, if you win this, we'll see you on August 14th, Friday at Gordon Chevrolet.

01:07:22 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. and I can't wait to meet you. Thank you.

01:07:24 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate you, buddy, man. Congratulations on retirement. Hold on. Jeff wants to comment on Tarps Off, the Tarps Off shirtless guy. What's up, Jeff?

01:07:34 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you doing? First time, long time. Hey, Jeff.

01:07:39 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Jeff?

01:07:41 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 5:

I had a guy, he used to mow his grass in his full-out Speedo.

01:07:46 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:07:46 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Why? I don't know, and he wasn't young when he did it.

01:07:52 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 2:

I was trying to get a tan.

01:07:54 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 3:

Shannon talks about the guy in her neighborhood that mows with his full-on clothes on.

01:08:02 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Business clothes.

01:08:03 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Like business clothes. Isn't that amazing to know that? I mean, the Speedo guy is an interesting guy. Like that, honestly, I'd call the police about that one. Like, you know what I mean?

01:08:12 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 5:

That's kind of crazy. Yeah, yeah. Don't bring your kids out. No, no, keep them in the house. Funny enough, I had another neighbor at a different house that I lived in. He used to mow his grass when it was pitch dark out.

01:08:24 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Those guys are crazy. Did he have a light on the front of his lawnmower?

01:08:30 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 5:

No, he just had rocks slinging everywhere.

01:08:33 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. I wonder if he just worked all day and that was the only time he could do it.

01:08:38 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 5:

Possibly. Possibly. That's wild.

01:08:40 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 3:

I remember a neighbor that used to do that, too. Like, I'd hear the lawnmower going, and it'd be like 9.15, and the sun had already gone down. And I'm like, they just started? Like, how are they going to finish? But they would. And their lawn looked good. Yes, sir. All right, thanks for the call, Jeff. Appreciate you listening.

01:08:58 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Guys, have a great day.

01:09:00 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Take care.

01:09:00 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 5:

You too.

01:09:01 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Summer is here, but our beast body looks like it's been hibernating a fast food dumpster for a while. Don't judge. This is Mojo in the Morning. Our Morgan Wallen concert or contest coming up right after this next topic, okay? So right after this next topic. It's Mojo in the Morning show. So Shannon, good to have your husband home and you had him alone for a little bit of time and you guys had a race against the clock.

01:09:31 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So he got home from his trip on Monday, like in the middle of the night. So yesterday was nice because I, so I don't have Lucy and Smith this week. They're with their dad. And yesterday evening we found ourselves with no kids whatsoever because his kids were celebrating a birthday and they were with their mom out of the house and so it was nice because we sat on the porch was beautiful night we had dinner we caught up he showed me some photos from his trip and then he's like wait a second there are no children here why our clothes still on so is that something that is he actually did say it like is there a typical

01:10:07 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 2:

rule that if no kids are there you know sometimes we're like wait a second what are we doing we this is a great opportunity so we went upstairs and took off our clothes and i even said to him too as we started doing our thing i'm like i feel like sam and karen are going to be home soon because it had been like two, two and a half hours and they were just doing a dinner. And he, of course, doesn't care. So we, you know, get on the bed and start doing whatever we're doing. And the way that my bedroom is, you can see right out the windows, like our street and the driveway. So we're right smack dab in the middle. And all of a sudden I see Kieran's little car. coming down the street and pulling up in the driveway and i was like wes get down because you know we we had the windows not that you could really see anyway but we could see out so i guess if you looked hard enough you could probably see him so he gets down and i thought that that would be it because i knew he was home he's in the driveway oh no did not stop wes he was determined to keep going even as i hear the garage door open and close the door to the laundry room open yeah and close so i knew he was in the house but he just what do you think the timing kept it going

01:11:33 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 1:

what do you think the timing is from the time i saw him well yeah because think about i i think about this sometimes like i can tell like when my when luke comes home okay i can tell when luke comes home because the garage my garage door thing and it's probably going off here in the studio before it goes on my app will go i go make some noise and so i'm like oh luke's there but then there's times where luke spends uh an exorbitantly long amount of time in his car

01:12:00 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 2:

karen never does that karen gets right inside the house he's right inside the house so from the time i saw his car turn the corner until the time he came in i would say it's probably one minute and 20 seconds not enough who are they he didn't care west didn't care the uh and you're not

01:12:17 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 1:

comfortable by the way obviously having sex with the with the older kids and well especially when

01:12:23 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 2:

i know that like they're they're going to come in and immediately want to come upstairs and talk about their day and the dinner and it's like it's weird when they would they come in and our bedroom door is closed you know what's happening and i did not want that to be the case yeah that's that

01:12:40 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 1:

would be an uncomfortable thing i think that would be yeah it's uncomfortable for me with my with my kids let alone you doing that with Wes's kids yeah although it would be not stupid it would be uncomfortable for me if I was making love and Wes's kids showed up too I would be like why are Wes's kids hanging out here so but I I do want to ask the question of of our listener you know you're sitting there listening to the show when you're gonna have sex could you think that you have an empty house and then the kids do come home or you get that you know random neighbor at the front door or something like that does it ruin the mood for you or are you like no we're finishing this thing do you or do you ever have it and this is for you but also for the listeners too where it's like hey i'm gonna go run up and go get something or whatever i'm gonna run out you know and do something and you're like all right i know exactly like 15 20 minutes to go we do that all the time we're like three two one go yeah we just run yeah uh hannah what's going on

01:13:40 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 3:

hannah how are you hi good morning everyone good morning i was just thinking to myself um when i heard this my dad he lives with us part-time so if it's tuesday or wednesday and we're doing the deed i have to have the blink pulled up so i see when he comes home and we can get dressed quickly

01:13:57 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 1:

oh geez okay so what is so the the blink gives you the forewarning by seeing where he's at yeah

01:14:04 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 3:

he parks in the front and so i can see if he's home it's like an adult baby monitor do do you

01:14:10 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 1:

ever turn the alarm on like there have been times you know where and this was not for the sake of probably chelsea and i together but there are times where you want to take care of yourself you know what i mean and i'll turn the alarm on in the house because you want to make sure that there's at least a forewarning of the beep beep beeps going off that's you ever do that a really

01:14:30 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 3:

great idea a great warning they're very barky oh yeah if they hear something we know but what

01:14:36 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 1:

What if they're barking at you?

01:14:39 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 3:

No, they don't. They don't do that. Unfortunately, they kind of watch.

01:14:43 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:14:43 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, unfortunately, all three dogs just sit outside of our bedroom floor. Oh, my God. They just sit and cry. They sit and cry because they want to come in.

01:14:52 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Does the crying ever, like, ruin the mood?

01:14:55 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 2:

You just have to block it out.

01:14:56 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You just got to let it go through one air and one out the other.

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 3:

Misfit Tony is calling up. This is a topic for you, Tony. I know how much you are, right?

01:15:04 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 1:

You already know I was calling in Shannon. Tell Wes, he's my new superhero. He's the man for keeping it going. I will. Let him know that.

01:15:15 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 6:

I will.

01:15:15 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 1:

And Mojo, please play Knock in the Boots and dedicate it to Wes.

01:15:21 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Knock in the Boots. You know what? I haven't heard that song in forever. These guys won't even know that song.

01:15:26 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, I've never heard that song. Yeah, they will. Yeah, they will.

01:15:29 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 3:

Is it knocking da boots? No, this is for Wes. Here you go, Tony. All right. Thank you, Misfit Tony. I appreciate the...

01:15:42 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 5:

Bye, Tony. All right. Y'all be blessed. Have a great day, everybody. You too.

01:15:47 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 3:

Blair, what's up, Blair?

01:15:50 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just going to say, I think the thrill of getting caught makes things so much more interesting. and it doesn't make me want to stop wow you're like a fetish you're kind of turning me on Blair

01:16:03 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 3:

I bet some that's unbelievable like most people would feel like the thrill of getting caught is

01:16:09 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 4:

not a thrill it's like an embarrassment yeah well my husband's grandma often spends the night at our house oh jesus and poor and I'm like look it's our house we're grown adults we're married like we have a child they know what happens has she ever said anything to you like has she ever said she heard or saw anything nope and my brother lived with me for almost two years and i was my husband was like but what if he hears this i said i don't care i don't can i say something

01:16:39 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 3:

you went from being a turn-on to now i think you're a weird human being yeah i think the idea that your grandma and your brother-in-law or whatever are it's brother or brother i i got a feeling that you are a voyeur do you like uh you know flash people or something too are you

01:16:59 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 4:

no no no no no and it's literally like my brother he lived in our house rent free like didn't do anything he was lazy but like it's a thrill of getting caught like i don't know it's not that

01:17:11 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 3:

wait you have a okay let's back this up for just one second blur and i want you to think of this with me you know saying this to you you have a thrill of getting caught having sex with your man from your brother catching you or grandma just anyone no i think Blair i'm putting you on a sex offenders list right now you are gonna have to register you have to register after that one i don't know i can't i can't i think there's a i think there's a thrill of getting caught if it's maybe a stranger or something like that. Although I don't even know if that's so much a thrill. But I don't want grandma catching me.

01:17:53 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, I'd much rather have it be a stranger than a family member.

01:17:57 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you understand? Like, when I was a kid, I think I walked in on my parents one time having sex, and it was still so traumatizing for me at that moment. Like, I don't know if that necessarily...

01:18:07 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:18:08 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

01:18:09 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 4:

It's traumatic. It's traumatic catching your parents. Yeah. For sure.

01:18:13 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 6:

Or even just knowing. And that's why I say I didn't even want to I didn't even want him to come in and see the door closed because that's gross.

01:18:19 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 3:

But it's also, Blair, traumatic to know that your brother, the freeloading brother, I can't do.

01:18:29 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 4:

I told him to put headphones on.

01:18:30 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, it's just you told your brother, I'm going to go have sex with my man.

01:18:36 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't tell you in the basement and I lived in the basement underneath my parents room when I was a teenager.

01:18:44 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 3:

Anna and Shannon, you guys don't have brothers?

01:18:47 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:18:47 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 3:

But this would be like an awkward situation. You know what I mean? Yeah. That's kind of crazy. Listen, Blair, you know what? Get it on. What did they say? Don't yuck somebody's yum? Mm-hmm. I'm yucking this yum.

01:19:01 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 4:

But my husband works 16-hour days, five days a week, and only has two days off. You got to get it when you can. You got to get it while you can.

01:19:10 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 3:

All right. I love you for listening, Blair. Take care of yourself. you too all right bye

You're going to see Morgan Wallen, and you're going to also have the police after you because it sounds to me like you got some police sirens going on there. Is everything okay?

01:34:06 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 5:

01:34:08 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 3:

01:34:14 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 5:

It was a wonderful day.

01:34:16 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you are the ex-wife every guy should have. The fact that he comes over crying, and you basically gave up the gooch. That's amazing. Seriously, applause. It's amazing. Hang on the phone for a second, okay?

01:34:34 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 2:

One date, zero funnel-ups, and a lot of WTF. Second date update happens at 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:42 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, second date update is going to be happening right after this, okay? It's Mojo in the morning show. I want to tell you guys a story real quick, and I want to give you also a public service announcement. So this is a story with a PSA, public service announcement. It's for you too, okay?

01:35:00 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 1:

And the girls in the other room, but I'm giving it for you two and all the women that are listening to the show. We have a lot of them. By the way, number one with women, Mojo.

01:35:08 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love the girlies.

01:35:10 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 1:

You like to advertise, by the way, and you want to get women between the ages of 18 and death? This is the radio show, okay? So a buddy of mine, Brett, went on a date with a girl. They went to dinner, and then after dinner was over with, and he said, he goes, because i always ask these guys these questions because i want to bring some things to the show that are dating wise because i i kind of stopped dating years ago um like a couple years ago when chelsea and i were having trouble i i dated a little bit during that time but you know even i'm just joking yeah but let me let me tell you about his date he went out on a date and then right as he was ending the date he thought to himself he's like i just don't want this to end right now so he said to her he goes do you feel up for like going to get ice cream or something And she said, yeah. And he said, let's do it. Let's just go. And his car was a little further than her car. He had to go walk a little bit further to get to her car. He was at her car with her. She says, jump in and I'll drive. He's like, okay, no problem. Worst move that she could have ever done.

01:36:17 - 01:36:17 | Unknown:

Why?

01:36:17 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 1:

He got in the car and he said it was filthy. I have to move this because I feel like I'm not close enough to you guys. He had to, he got in. First off, he gets in, and he sits down, and on the floor, he said, there was a Five Guys bag. Which, by the way, any woman that eats at Five Guys.

01:36:36 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

I do.

01:36:37 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 1:

Really? Okay, I was a little skeptical on that.

01:36:39 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 2:

I didn't want you to say anything bad.

01:36:41 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I love that you do. I think that's great. Don't let a guy know you eat there. She had McDonald's. She had about 20 different types of bottles. Like, she had, like, a Lululemon kind of, like, a Yeti that was there that he said was, like, all kind of scuffed up with a bunch of stuff.

01:36:59 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 3:

So, it was cluttered with crap and garbage.

01:37:01 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 1:

Like, he had to move his feet around this thing. And she was like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. You can just throw it in the back seat. He looks in the back seat. This is no joke. The back seat was as filthy as the front seat was. He's like, she had stuff on her seats. It looked like she had clothes that were there that she claimed that she was going to get hemmed or something like that. It was a mess.

01:37:20 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 3:

I have that. I have that in my back to you.

01:37:22 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 1:

So the whole ride to go get ice cream, and it wasn't that long of a ride, but it was long to him. He starts smelling something. And in her car, he was noticing a musty smell. And he couldn't figure out what it was. And then finally when they got to the ice cream place, he realized it smelled like that smell when you leave your clothes in the washer too long. And they get a moldy smell. It's a moldy smell. in her car. It was all mold. Like it was crazy. So it was garbagey moldy. And I, so I said to him, I go, well, you know, maybe she's got a dirty car. He goes, there is no way that a woman with a dirty car does not have a dirty house or a dirty cooch or a dirty cooch. You know what?

01:38:09 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 2:

I thought the same thing too. Like what else are you not taking care of? Right. If you can't take

01:38:13 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 1:

care of your car like I I'll be honest with you my car is not the cleanest I get the outside washed almost every single day I've got a membership to the car wash occasionally I use the inside car wash membership too and I'll get it done if it's bad like in the winter time when the mats get all salty and stuff like that I try to do it a little bit more summertime I kind of give up on it but my car doesn't smell like if you get into my car you're not going to smell musty yeah I understand

01:38:40 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 2:

And having, like, a water bottle, like, okay, maybe one thing or something.

01:38:44 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 3:

Like, I have a bunch of, like, dry cleaning I need to drop off today.

01:38:47 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 2:

Everything, the smell, all that.

01:38:49 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 3:

If it smells, that means that it's not, like, like, I definitely go through periods of, like, okay, all the kids' athletic stuff is, you know, whatever. But if there's a smell, that means that it's always dirty.

01:38:59 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 2:

There's something rotting in there.

01:39:01 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 1:

So here's a stat, because I Googled dirty cars with women. um half of men say that they judge a date more by how clean her car is than the maker the model that she drives if the outside is filthy and the inside looks like it's a rolling junk drawer uh guys say that that's a bad first impression and they say that they actually look at that as a dating deal breaker if your car's dirty why are you inviting him in

01:39:33 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 2:

there to begin with like go to his car that was a huge mistake on our part yeah I would have said

01:39:37 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 3:

oh my gosh I my car is is not in any sort of condition for anybody to be in it let's use your

01:39:44 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 1:

car there was a period of your life we parked next to each other all the time yeah right it was when we were in Farmington and I was a little worried about you oh gosh like there was I looked in your

01:39:53 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

car a couple of times but you know what mine was yeah it was stuff that needed to be donated that They just would drive.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 7:

right past the place and never stop like i think i had stuff in there for probably four months

01:40:06 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 1:

there was actually one point where i actually went home and said to my wife i think shannon might need to live with us because i think she's living in her car like i don't know i was like man this is like awful like this is i was going through a purge phase and just didn't drop off the junk um 844 mojo live what's going on nicole how you doing i'm good how are you doing fantastic nicole uh what do you think about that is a dirty car mean a dirty woman

01:40:32 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 6:

yeah i i could totally agree with that i can totally agree with that i i in college i knew i knew a person who just had everything in her car and it's just like but the guy i knew It sounds like the guy talking about his date.

01:40:53 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Brett.

01:40:54 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 6:

I had to, like, move my feet around things. It's gross. Yeah, guys have dirty cars, too.

01:41:00 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:41:01 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 6:

It shows, like, it says bad hygiene all over it. I, you know. Dirty car. That's how I see it.

01:41:07 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 1:

Dirty balls. Right?

01:41:10 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Balls.

01:41:11 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:41:12 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I mean, I feel bad for the guy. I hope he improved. I used to work with him. I'm just like, I hope things change there with both of us.

01:41:21 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

If you're a guy with a dirty car, you got Femunda balls. You know what I'm talking about?

01:41:26 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 2:

But it doesn't sound good.

01:41:28 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 1:

You got Femunda growing under the balls. That's what Femunda balls are. Billy, what's up, Billy?

01:41:38 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 4:

What's up, man?

01:41:38 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 1:

How you doing?

01:41:40 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time. Hey!

01:41:41 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey! I'm the phone!

01:41:43 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 4:

i listen to you guys every morning i work for true green so i literally drive a truck every day

01:41:50 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 7:

i use you thank you oh you do a good job but uh yeah what if your car smells like like dank weed and there's like food crumbs and garbage weed smell i could not do a cigarette smell i could

01:42:02 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

not do for sure you couldn't do it nope why is that what yours smells like hell no hell no my i was clean okay i got ocd way too bad yeah i don't like the weed smelling on anything like i really it drives me crazy when i pull up next to somebody at a red light and they it smells like

01:42:20 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 4:

weed you know you like the weed back in the day didn't smell like that now it just smells like

01:42:25 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 1:

just straight skunk it's okay it's horrible yeah i don't like it horrible well don't get me wrong i smoke it but it smells horrible yeah i'd rather smell the chemicals that you put on the

01:42:37 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 4:

lawns of people you know i i don't know the stuff we're spraying right now that it if you got no tears it'll it'll definitely singe them up i love it billy call us more often all right thank you

01:42:50 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 2:

brother appreciate me what's going on how you doing jackie hi hey hi so i agree with you guys um most definitely if her car is dirty her house is dirty and her cooch is probably dirty i'm telling I have three kids and there's no one can ever say they can come randomly. And my car is always clean. There is a free vacuum. Go take advantage. And there's trash cans everywhere. Take the trash out. They're just lazy and dirty.

01:43:22 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 6:

Your vagina just tried to bite me.

01:43:25 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 1:

That's, uh, yeah.

01:43:26 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 2:

Literally, like, I'd be scared of what's in there.

01:43:29 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 7:

I am. I feel like I get this way. I don't know about you guys, but if my car is dirty and cluttery, my brain feels that way, too.

01:43:36 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 2:

For sure.

01:43:37 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 7:

I have to have, like, a clean space. Same thing with my house.

01:43:40 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, because all the places for a roach or a mice to hide in there. Hold on.

01:43:43 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

Lisa disagrees with you, and I'm going to keep you on the phone, Jackie. Lisa, what did you want to say?

01:43:49 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 5:

I travel all the time for work, so, like, I'm always on the road.

01:43:52 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:43:52 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 5:

So I might have a couple empty Red Bull cans in my car. It's not that bad, but all my work stuff is in the back, and it's kind of messy in the back seat, but it's not that big a deal.

01:44:01 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 1:

Jackie.

01:44:02 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 5:

And even if your car is dirty, it doesn't mean your house is dirty because I deep clean my house every Monday.

01:44:07 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 1:

Jackie, ask her about her cooch.

01:44:11 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

How's the cooch?

01:44:13 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it ain't dirty, honey. I have a husband. You like this. Hell yeah. Okay, good for you.

01:44:19 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 1:

All right. I love it, Lisa. Thank you. There are those exceptions to the rules, okay? Appreciate you guys. By the way. Get rid of those Red Bull cans, though. Just that line of Jackie going, how's the...

01:44:33 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 3:

There you go.

01:44:35 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 1:

Nathan, what's going on?

01:44:38 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. Listen to you every morning. I'm a truck driver. You're going to get me through my day.

01:44:42 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, we love you, buddy. What's happening?

01:44:46 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

I had an ex that we were together a long time, and when we first met, her car was atrocious, and it was always atrocious. But it's because she was a thriving, young, powerful woman. Make the women on the show.

01:45:00 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 2:

so happy she had three jobs and volunteered a lot so she never had time to clean her car but if you went to her house you would have thought the thing was a mansion so once we got together the car was never dirty again because i couldn't stand it i'm ocd yeah you could you could eat off the floor of my semi like it's okay bad i mean it goes back to the don't judge a book

01:45:24 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 1:

by its cover right yeah all right so i should tell brett to give this girl another chance at least go see what her place looks like exactly all right cool and melody uh what's up melanie hi

01:45:35 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 4:

hi how are you guys good melanie so i just wanted to say there's a difference in a mess and like being dirty and then just being cluttered and i feel like moms can understand i have a son who's in who's in sports and he's a very outdoorsy boy and for me it's easier just to keep like his baseball bats his gloves we do pickleball it's easier just to keep that stuff in my car for sure in my backseat then to have to unload it every day reload it yeah that makes sense yeah now dirty clothes that start stinging absolutely i'm with you there i'm with you there gym clothes okay food you're right if you're eating out in your car you get home take the bag out okay dirty now you're but i agree with some of the people my home is spotless i was always told a dirty kitchen and a dirty bathroom for a woman is the dirty cooch oh that's where it matters dirty bathrooms are big deal to me like

01:46:41 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 1:

if you got a dirty bathroom if i walked in and was at a girl's house and and went into the bathroom and the bathroom was dirty for sure i'm thinking i'd look at the tub if the tub looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while you know what i mean and then also the yeah then or there's no soap and the soap dispensers or the soap looks like it's old soap like i want to see clean soap

01:47:03 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

you know what i mean so yeah there's a big difference in something being dirty and then something being cluttered i'm bad for clutter my car but that's because of games and sports and summertime but my house is always clean but my car it's it's i got kids i can take my nephews and my niece is everywhere, I don't care. I'm sorry.

01:47:23 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank you. Thank you for that, Melanie. I trust that you have a great coochie, okay? Melanie?

01:47:34 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 2:

She's like, okay. Yeah.

01:47:37 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 4:

She said, you're right. Thank you.

01:47:40 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself.

01:47:42 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 4:

Have a good one.

01:47:43 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 1:

All right, we'll see. This portion of the show is brought to you by El Car Wash.

01:47:48 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's Dirty Under 30 in minutes of Mojo in the Morning guaranteed human

01:47:54 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 1:

alright it is Mojo in the Morning show by the way somebody just texted and said where's Kev been Kev is on vacation this week he's got his idle while happening I don't know what that's the wrong button it was supposed to be this one it sounded like Kevin was on a bus going up north Kevin's going to be back next week so he'll be back so he's taking a week's vacation so he's not here but uh just us girls hanging out second date update it's the second date update a mojo in the morning right now second date update amanda says that she knows why she's not getting a call back but she just wants confirmation i kind of like this because i think everybody kind of knows where they went wrong but they play dumb to the fact that that might have been a big enough deal breaker

01:48:40 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 2:

or maybe it was something else that you don't even aren't even aware of and this is going to

01:48:44 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 1:

help you figure it out so amanda's gonna ask mason real quick if it's what she thinks it is amanda are you there yes i'm here amanda mason's on the phone say hi to mason hi mason hey first off mason why aren't you well you don't have to explain i'll let amanda ask but um it's interesting when a guy or a girl doesn't call somebody back you almost kind of like go god at least call them back and say you know hey this isn't going to work out but i guess amanda will get it on here right now amanda go ahead ask your question to mason okay um is it i know

01:49:27 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 3:

that like that parasite is going around and you know like is that why you aren't talking to me

01:49:33 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 1:

anymore explain i mean you have it wait explain amanda you have that that thing you got that

01:49:40 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

stomach stuff i had it like i had it uh apparently after our our meal like i i just kept going to the bathroom and like i don't know i got embarrassed by it i i just didn't feel good and he told me it was all right he told me it was fine don't worry about it and

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 5:

I just can't help but think that, I don't know.

01:50:03 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Is that why? But it's not contagious.

01:50:04 - 01:50:07 | Speaker 1:

Wait, but she was, yeah, it's not.

01:50:07 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 3:

It's not contagious.

01:50:08 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think she's talking about contagious. Did you spend your date in the bathroom?

01:50:13 - 01:50:13 | Unknown:

Poor girl.

01:50:14 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 5:

I was like constantly running to the bathroom. Like we went back to his place and it was so bad. It was, I mean, I feel bad and I felt bad. It was just awful. Why didn't you end the date and go home? I mean, I didn't know I had that at the moment. And I was kind of in at that point.

01:50:32 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 1:

So, Mason, was it that Amanda had to use the bathroom so much during the day that that was kind of a turnoff for you?

01:50:42 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 2:

Look, so yes and no. No, like, look, you got to go to the bathroom, you got to go to the bathroom. I understand that. And I understand that there's this thing going around, and obviously you have no control over that. i'm not trying to blame you for that at all but um look there was just a lot and the bathroom wasn't super clean you know after everything ended and you know for a first date and for all that to go on it was just very off-putting to to say the least and um sweet so you so you

01:51:20 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 1:

were not necessarily just you know having issues with the fact that she was not really with you most of the date it was just the whole nature of the date the whole thing had had kind of a bad

01:51:31 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 2:

feel to it yeah i mean like the date was fine and yeah she came back to my place and all that stuff

01:51:38 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 3:

and how did you do that if you were not feeling well did did you use the bathroom at his place

01:51:44 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 5:

too amanda yeah i mean i had to i mean i didn't know i was gonna have this like i mean obviously i wouldn't have gone on you know but like next thing i knew it was just oh my gosh i think i'd be done and then i i mean i wasn't i wasn't doing it on purpose and obviously nobody wants that no of course not no you told me i understand like you told me it was fine and like i i believed you

01:52:11 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 2:

and like i mean obviously i didn't ask for this can i ask no and it was fine like it was fine and I'm not, again, I'm not blaming you. It's just, I don't really know how to explain it in words. It's just one of those situations where I guess, like, because of everything that happened and because it was just a first date, and again, I'm not blaming you, and it was fine, and I completely understand that this is a weird bug that's going around or whatever the case may be, but, like, it's just one of those things where just the overall situation is just not, I don't know.

01:52:45 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 4:

If it was fine, you would be fine with calling her back.

01:52:48 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a quick question about this thing? Because there's this thing going around, obviously, and we know that a bunch of our listeners have gotten affected by this. Honestly, the only person that I really truly know that might have it is my buddy Paul said that he thinks he has it. And then Kenyatta, who's one of our Mojo in the Morning superfans.

01:53:08 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Like, actually tested.

01:53:09 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 1:

So when you go on a date with somebody, Like, I've been, you know, noticing that a lot of my guy friends go on dates and they will say to me, they're like, you know, I get turned off by a girl that comes to my place and wants to go use the bathroom. Like, you know what I mean? Like that, I don't know.

01:53:28 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 4:

It's like a bodily function.

01:53:29 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 1:

Especially if they're in there for a long period of time. When you're going through this, Amanda, are you doing it for a long time? Like, were you in the bathroom for a long time or was it just more frequent visits?

01:53:42 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 5:

i mean there was like a one or two times that it was like uncomfortably too long but then otherwise it was like i as soon as i sit down i'd have to go back what do you think when you

01:53:53 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 1:

when you're if you're on a date and the dude's in the bathroom for a long period of time or if for guys when a woman goes into the bathroom and you know that she's actually dutying

01:54:02 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

i mean i feel bad because she couldn't help it and i don't think like i think if the date was going well then they she deserves a second chance but at the same time i'm my i'm boggled as to why you didn't say at like during dinner i think i'm just gonna go home i am not feeling well i would love to rain check this and like have a redo at another time i'm clearly not well agreed but it

01:54:29 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 4:

also sounds like he was telling her oh it's fine i don't care i'm pooping every five minutes i want

01:54:36 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 1:

to go home hey hold on stephanie wants to comment what's up stephanie hi yeah i just want to say

01:54:41 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 4:

that this guy's a turd ferguson like totally like what a jerk she was sick and he's totally

01:54:48 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

unempathetic so dump him like it's done be done i think he doesn't seem like he's completely on uh he let her come back to the house and use the bathroom i don't think that was full

01:55:00 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 6:

wrong i just i think he sounds kind of like a jerk like i just do i just i do think that the

01:55:08 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 3:

timing was a bad timing it's almost kind of like hey i'll see you in a few weeks when this thing goes through me what's up sarah how you doing good morning i'm doing pretty good everybody

01:55:17 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 5:

good morning um i'm like the rest of all of you guys she should have just went home there's no way i'm gonna go to a man's house and have diarrhea back and forth to the bathroom you know She probably spent half the time cleaning up behind herself while she was in there. I know. But for him to end things.

01:55:35 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 3:

I got to, I got to, I got to dump you. Yeah, you can't say it. You can't say it.

01:55:39 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 4:

But also, too, like, if you're going back to somebody's house, obviously, like, one would make the assumption that maybe things would happen. I would not want to be touched. I would not.

01:55:51 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 3:

Mason, why would, you only invite a girl go back to your place because you think something's going to happen. And why would you think that that would be a good idea to invite Amanda back to your place? Why not just end it, you know, at the restaurant or whatever that you went to?

01:56:08 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I, I mean, I didn't know that she was going to sit there. And I mean, look, here's the thing. You come back to my place and you got to use the bathroom once or twice. It's not really a big deal. Okay. Like that doesn't bother me. People have to go to the bathroom. But again, it's just one of the things where, when you're constantly like, And we're in the middle of hanging out, and then you have to leave. And you, you know what I mean?

01:56:26 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 3:

It's just, it was weird. Why even invite her, though? I don't know.

01:56:30 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 7:

Does that mouth still work?

01:56:31 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hey. I don't know if I actually want to know in the middle of anything like that, she's got to go on duty. What's up, Lance? How you doing?

01:56:43 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 1:

Hey. So, one important thing that he said for me was that she went to the bathroom. And when she came out, the bathroom really wasn't all that clean after. So if I invite someone over and they go to my bathroom and just leave diarrhea on the side of the toilet, you know, I would have a problem with that.

01:57:06 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 4:

I know, but her thing was so sick.

01:57:08 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 3:

It is.

01:57:09 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 4:

Again, go home.

01:57:11 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 6:

You can pour some water on her. No, I know.

01:57:14 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 4:

I know. I just.

01:57:16 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 3:

At that point.

01:57:17 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't think I looked at 30.

01:57:19 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 3:

You didn't? Okay. All right. Hold on. Marcus, what's going on? What'd you want to say?

01:57:25 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I just don't want to go out with someone that doesn't clean after themselves. I mean, imagine what her car looks like if the toilet was looking bad.

01:57:32 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

No. Yeah, no. Hold on. Everybody's saying. What's up, Kat? How you doing?

01:57:38 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 6:

Pretty good. How you all doing?

01:57:40 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's up?

01:57:43 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 6:

I just wanted to make a comment.

01:57:45 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:57:46 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 6:

For him, Mason. And being in his situation, I kind of can see it because he made a little brief comment about it. After she left, he had to clean the bathroom.

01:58:02 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes, people are focused on that now.

01:58:04 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 6:

He had explosive diarrhea. He had to clean the toilet. Yes. Now, if you had to clean somebody's toilet, you kind of get turned off by it.

01:58:16 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 7:

In her defense, though, what is she going to say? Where's your toilet brush? Let me clean this up real quick. She said it just went home. Toilet paper. You can at least put the rim off. Poor thing.

01:58:27 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I feel bad. Listen, Amanda, I feel horrible about this. I wish that you, when you're completely done, are you done with this or are you still dealing with it?

01:58:37 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'm done with it. Yeah. No. Okay.

01:58:39 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Let's have a redo. Mason, let's do a redo. Or can you not get the thought of your cleaning the bathroom out of your mind?

01:58:46 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 2:

um honestly i just think it's been like several weeks at this point and like many callers have said i did have to clean up the bathroom afterwards it's just i mean again it's not like it was love at first sight you know it was a fine first date but you know it's not like this wasn't a cute a me cute that's i'm impressed you know the lingo there's definitely no me tuning yeah yeah like it wasn't like a seven or eight dates in and this happened this was just the first date that led to her having again not her fault i'm not blaming her

01:59:24 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 3:

it's just explosive diarrhea exact it let's label this second date update explosive diarrhea that's

02:00:54 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, I have to start off with this. Kev sent me a text message last night. He had a request. He wanted to shout out somebody. So I'm going to do it since he's not here. Nicole from Brownstown and her daughter, Easton Volleyball, who is a volleyball superstar. I hope I'm reading this text message, right? So shout out to you guys. Nicole and Easton this morning.

02:01:14 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 1:

How come he texts you, but he won't text me back?

02:01:17 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 5:

Because he said, can you do it at the beginning of the 830 Dirty? He was very specific.

02:01:20 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. So it's the dirties. Yeah. He still, by the way, is on my spit list over the fact that he won't go see Odyssey with me.

02:01:27 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 5:

I know. And that movie man is getting some amazing reviews. Okay. A Plymouth, Michigan man scamming Morgan Wallen fans and University of Michigan fans, too. One woman said she spent $1,200 on four tickets to Morgan's Saturday night, so never got the tickets. Another was promised a meet and greet. That's definitely not going to happen. Multiple people allege that this Plymouth guy, John Klein, is at the center of this scam involving Morgan Wallen tickets, tailgates, watch parties, University of Michigan memorabilia and more to the tune of about a million bucks. That's how much he's made from this scam. Last week, attorneys representing Morgan Wallen sent a cease and desist letter to him. They alleged that he advertised and sold unauthorized Morgan Wallen tickets, meet and greets, VIP packages, merch, like all of the above. The University of Michigan, because he was saying he had an affiliation with U of M. And the university is like, no, we don't know anything about you. We have zero relationship with you. They were made aware of what this guy was doing before the 2025 football season. they're now ordering him to provide full refunds to affected customers when it comes to wolverine's fans he was selling fake items with fake signatures from michigan football players so that was part of this operation too wow so did we hopefully you've got legit tickets yeah and didn't pay you know a couple grand for a meet and greet or something because that is that is absolutely not happening

02:03:02 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 1:

there's a lot of like scamming it seems like going on right now like you got that guy doing that and And then there was that guy that was supposed to be building some kind of like a park. Oh, in Romulus. In Romulus that was a scammer and he was spending all this money. You know how you know somebody is a scammer when all of a sudden one day they're driving a Rolls Royce. You know what I mean? And you go, this guy doesn't make enough money to be driving this thing. He obviously is getting his money from somewhere else.

02:03:27 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. Jason Kelsey confirming the rumor that, yes, his brother Travis did actually sing during his wedding to Taylor Swift.

02:03:35 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Trapton sang. Travkin has always been able to carry a tune. Obviously, pale to comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did okay.

02:03:44 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 5:

Olivia Rodrigo is dating a Wall Street hottie. I don't know if I would call him a hottie. He's kind of nerdy, but whatever. After splitting from British actor Louis Partridge, he's been spotted around New York City several times with this guy named Julian Krunenberg of private equity firm HG Capital. They just went on a trip together. They went to Iceland together. Who is this guy? He is a Brown graduate. He studied math and computer science, also played for the U.S. men's national field hockey team from 2018 to 2020. And former Detroit mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, hanging out with our buddy Charlie Langton on the Detroit Talk City podcast to talk about would he ever want to be mayor again? And also that prison sentence.

02:04:29 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 3:

Would you win if you win?

02:04:31 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I don't lose races. Could you be mayor of Detroit right now? I wouldn't want to be married. What do you want to be? None of that. And the federal judge said

02:04:38 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 3:

28 years. Yes. What went through your mind? That's a real sentence. Um, when I was standing there,

02:04:45 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

I was having my first, what I believe is kind of an out of body experience. I heard the judge talking, but I felt this kind of pouring down my head, down my back, all the way down to my feet. It was the first time I felt absolute, uh, the absolute presence of the

02:05:00 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Holy Spirit. I can't explain it any other way. So she said it. But when I walked out the courtroom, you can remember, I uttered these words, no doubt, no fear. And I don't even know where that came from. I was in the courtroom. I was okay. When they slammed that door at Milan that first night, it was the most depressing feeling that I'd ever had. It was the most gut-wrenching feeling, not because I was in prison, but because I was away from the duty that I had as father and husband.

02:05:29 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. I saw that interview. I watched that interview. By the way, Charlie's got some new talk show that he's doing. They're doing it on Fox 2, their streaming platform. Kwame, if he ran for political office, I think would probably win.

02:05:42 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's what he said. He goes, I don't lose contests. I don't lose elections.

02:05:46 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 3:

I think he's still hugely popular. He still has money that nobody knows where it is. So there's a lot of money that was stolen from the city of Detroit that a lot of people are like, Where's the money, Kwame?

02:05:58 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. Hey, miss anything from today? Go back, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app.

02:11:37 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bring Mike on with us, too, so that I can ask him his thoughts. So, Mike, we posted up on our Mojo in the Morning Show socials on Sunday asking who we thought would be the walkout for Morgan.

02:11:50 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:11:50 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 3:

And the votes are in. everybody thinks one of the nights it's going to definitely be Aiden Hutchinson yeah I think so too so that that's almost a guarantee the second biggest one is Dan Campbell oh for sure and that's a good one too yet I talked to one of Dan's uh and Holly's friends and said that Dan does not like the spotlight matter of fact if you go is uh if you go see a Michigan State basketball game he and holly and their kids will sometimes sit right there in mad ishbia seats right next to coach izzo and uh he almost looks shy when they post him up on the scoreboard that he's there agreed so he's not necessarily like i'm gonna run out and do the whole thing like did you watch last

02:12:40 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 6:

week did you see them in baltimore mike uh yes yeah yeah who'd he bring out in baltimore uh he

02:12:45 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 3:

had ray lewis out with him yeah and they did the dirty the nelly dirty uh thing right the little dance that he would dance that ray lewis would do yeah yeah so um so that could be an interesting one the other thoughts are charles woodson so they they just keep it all michigan michigan and bring out heisman trophy winner and nfl superstar hall of famer charles woodson what do you think

02:13:08 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 6:

mike what do any other guesses at all uh somebody said jim harbaugh i don't think so portnoy would be interesting i can see portnoy coming out wow that's oh i didn't even think of that yeah because he's a he's an alum right big michigan yeah yep um eminem was tossed out there i don't know

02:13:25 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 3:

what about what about justin verlander this is a long shot but what about what about the tigers

02:13:32 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 6:

are the tigers in town this weekend no i think they're playing the cubs no i know i think they

02:13:36 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 3:

got the cubs last game tonight in wrigley and i think that maybe they come home for a weekend series oh yeah yeah against kansas city or somebody i think right yes um okay that's that's in tarik skuble what about tarik skuble aren't we done with him because he's hurt no no skuble's not hurt oh i thought he was never mind no and i think and and i think the rumor is they're not going to trade skuble okay so that man there's so many possibilities they are in town what if B93's Mike from the Alley. I was going to do the same joke.

02:14:10 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 6:

I am going to be there.

02:14:11 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 3:

Which night are you there? Friday or Saturday? I'm going to see you.

02:14:16 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 6:

You are going to be there.

02:14:18 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

You're going? Going Friday night.

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 5:

And Lydia and Bianca too, Mike.

02:14:23 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 3:

And Lydia and Bianca.

02:14:25 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 5:

Mike, are you staying in a hotel around there?

02:14:28 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 6:

No, I think I'm getting scammed but I found a parking spot for a good price That's a little south of the stadium. So we're going in and leaving that night.

02:14:38 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

02:14:39 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 3:

Driving back. Did you hear the, well, you didn't because I was going to say, did you hear us earlier this morning? Mike's got his own radio show that he does. We talked earlier this morning about parking and the scams that are going on, but then also how much people are paying to go park at Pioneer High School. They're paying like $150.

02:14:56 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 4:

$175.

02:14:57 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Or $175 now. So a list.

02:15:00 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 2:

listener called up I've got great parking I'm in the blue lot which is how many times has he said this today a lot I'm in the blue lot it's the fancy like right next to the I'm also in a suite too by the way oh yeah so it's you know in the I'm gonna walk through the Forbes entrance the official Nate Forbes entrance but here's the thing they said it will take two hours to get everybody out of there holy cow so you you may not get home until seven in the morning uh maybe

02:15:32 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 4:

yeah i don't know we we're south we're not close either like we're it's a it's kind of a walk that's smart so i'm hoping yeah that's my hope is that on the way out it'll be easier to get out but it was only 50 bucks that's why i'm like oh that's a steal you know what though that's not bad

02:15:49 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 2:

i've actually thought about doing the whole i'll park at briarwood mall and uber in type thing but then you're not going to get an uber out no way so uh hold on kristin is with us right now oh by the way a frat house offered me their frat house did i tell you that story before you talk kristin yeah earlier this morning a text came in one of the frat houses said mojo if you and chelsea want to stay in our frat house you can could you imagine if i said that chelsea were staying overnight in the frat house mike and ali could too we could all slumber party in the frat house

02:16:21 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 4:

We'll do keg stands before bed.

02:16:22 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 2:

You and I would be fine with it. Our wives would be like, we're not touching our bodies on anything that probably has sperm on it.

02:16:30 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 4:

Which is everything there.

02:16:32 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Kristen?

02:16:34 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Not much. I was just commenting on it's a possibility they could have Tom Brady come out.

02:16:40 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 2:

If they did that, if Morgan Wallen got Brady, that would be epic. That would get actually, because you know his goal is he wants it to be viral. And there have been moments where he's done it. But I think, did Brady come out in Vegas with him or no?

02:16:55 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:16:55 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 2:

He did.

02:16:56 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 4:

He already did. Yeah, one time. I don't know if it was Vegas. I'm pretty sure it was Vegas.

02:17:01 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 2:

I thought, yeah, because I thought Brady did it.

02:17:02 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

They are friends. Oh, yep, he did.

02:17:05 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Which was awesome.

02:17:07 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 3:

It was Mike Tyson, Morgan Wallen, and Tom Brady.

02:17:10 - 02:17:11 | Unknown:

God.

02:17:11 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 2:

We got to have something good. I'll tell you what. If it's the guy that looks like Tom Cruise that goes to everything, it's going to be the most embarrassing thing ever. Although they would, maybe some people think Tom Cruise would be there. No, it's going to be. It's Tom Cruise from Risky Business Days walking out here right now. I don't know. Like, who are the celebrities that we always end up seeing at all this stuff? Eminem.

02:17:35 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 3:

It is. It's Eminem. He's not out that often. Yeah.

02:17:39 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 2:

Not necessarily does Eminem go to everything. Eminem goes to lion stuff.

02:17:43 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 4:

I also don't think this is his crowd.

02:17:44 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it's his crowd either, but God, that would be unbelievable if he went out there. I mean, if I'm Eminem and I want to be, you know, I want to still be like, hey, I'm going to touch some audience here. You got an audience that I know if they're Morgan Wallen, they're also Eminem, lose yourself, right?

02:18:02 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 4:

But Drake walked out with him. That is true. Yeah.

02:18:06 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 2:

God, that would be amazing. Hold on, Melanie, what are your thoughts? Hi.

02:18:09 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I'm thinking Hotch because he's done so much for U of M and like my hospital and everything.

02:18:18 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:18:18 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 5:

So I'm thinking Hotchie and then I got picked. I'm super stoked. I'm wondering if I need to wear a diaper and how am I going to keep the sunscreen on?

02:18:29 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 2:

So you have the pit. I think during Zach Bryan, didn't they not have porta potties on the field for you if you were down low on the field?

02:18:38 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 5:

I didn't go to him, but my issue is if I move, I'm going to lose my spot. It's going to be cut for us. Diaper up. Do I wear the diaper? What do I do? No.

02:18:50 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 2:

Only people that go to Noah Kahn concerts crap themselves.

02:18:54 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 5:

Like, she doesn't have to be pooped there.

02:18:55 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Or pee.

02:18:56 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't pooped there.

02:18:58 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well. I don't know. I'm not a front of the pit person anymore. I'm in the pit, too, but I'm not a front of the pit. I can easily be in the back. It's still a good spot. Yes.

02:19:06 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 5:

This is my 40th birthday present, so I'm pretty stoked.

02:19:10 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

Mike, would you be okay if Melanie pees next to you in the pit? Absolutely not. He does not want you to pee.

02:19:17 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 5:

Nope.

02:19:18 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 2:

Melanie, please don't pee. Don't drink a lot that day.

02:19:21 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to hold it. I'm going to be dehydrated.

02:19:24 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 2:

I know that there's a lot of people that when they do certain things, like go to a concert like this, they will not drink the whole night. And it, to me, ruins the fun of doing it. Like, I would almost rather have, like, I think at the big house, if you're sitting in the top last row, you're in the best seats because you're going to see the whole thing, you know. But I know that there's a lot of people that want to get right up close.

02:19:47 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 5:

So, yeah, I definitely do. I'd love to be at that rail.

02:19:51 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 2:

Thanks. Appreciate you. I had a friend of mine that went to go see Noah Kahn at Wrigley and said that he had the worst seats, but there were the. best seats he sat in the very top you know deck level and he said it was awesome and he said the bathrooms were easy to get to so it was it was cool what's up kylie hey mojo um i was thinking

02:20:13 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 4:

maybe flavor place because i've seen him at taylor swift i've seen him at the lions games like he's

02:20:19 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 3:

a big fan too likes like no not flavorful i mean he's fine he's fine i don't see him fitting i just

02:20:25 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

see him showing up everywhere yeah I don't mind him showing up and being there and being one of them but it's got to be something bigger than Flava Flav you know yeah it would be uh it would be so cool to see all right well Kylie thank you are you gonna be there no my sister will be though okay well if you guys want tickets we got tickets in 20 minutes so we have a chance for you to win tickets in 20 minutes all right it's mojo in the morning uh Mike uh I don't know how much more time you have to be with us but i would like to if we can can we get a couple moments to talk about the almost major emergency with your sweet little guy yeah uh so sebastian is three it's my youngest

02:21:08 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 3:

and we just got back from like vacation we're doing the unpacking thing where we're kind of throwing everything put stuff away and i'm packing the camper and stuff and my youngest comes running up to me and he points to the top of his mouth and he goes I thought he said pen like he like poked himself in the mouth with a pen and his new thing is band-aid so I was like oh buddy I'll get you a band-aid you'll be okay and then he runs into the bathroom and tells my wife and she comes out with a horrified look on her face and I'm like what and she's like where's his other lucky penny and I was like I didn't know he had a lucky penny first off and she goes yeah he had two of them because Milo had one and he wanted two. I don't know. She's like, it's been in his pocket all day. Do you know where it is? And I'm like, no clue. And then he points to his mouth again and goes, pen. And I went, penny. He swallowed the penny. Oh, my God. Still mid, like, getting home. And I was like, well, where is it now? We didn't see him do it, so I still don't know if he really did. And he points to his throat. And I'm like, oh, geez. okay well let's get you some water to start off with and we start like getting ready to call the doctor and so he he starts drinking the water and then probably five minutes later like he drank so much water he just starts throwing up everywhere oh my gosh and i'm like where is it where is it like we're looking in the toilet to see if it came out uh we're kind of scrambling all over the place because we i have two older kids and they put things in their mouth and i think cess has swallowed maybe like a marble or something oh like this was much bigger this was

02:22:40 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 2:

the penny like it was huge do you guys like your kids not have candy at home that they like to stick in their mouths or whatever what's going on kids just stick stuff in their mouth all the time

02:22:48 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 3:

like random things like and so then he points to his belly and he's like it's it's in my belly after he threw up oh we just kind of sat and waited and no more than two seconds three seconds later he's grabbing like a balloon he found is chewing on that now and i'm like oh my god man

02:23:05 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 2:

chill you know as a parent that is the worst thing the worst thing is knowing that your kid's choking the second worst thing is knowing that they are not choking and they actually swallowed whatever they you know put in their mouths yeah is a penny can you get it's made of what what is a penny made of is it copper

02:23:22 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 1:

part of it I don't think they're all copper anymore but copper I don't I don't think a penny is like I think that you just they would tell you to wait and make sure it comes

02:23:30 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 3:

out yeah yeah

02:23:31 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

diapers now really you know what's funny is that i haven't seen sebastian in the longest time because you know mike's not a regular like where he's every day on the show and we don't have as much you know interaction facial interaction with him we you know talk you know yeah virtually like everybody else does yeah it's wild to think that sebastian's already speaking like at what point does a kid start talking. Like, how old is he? He's three

02:24:02 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 3:

now? He's three. He's just saying little words and phrases. Like, okay. Like, awful sentences. Does he swear at all? I don't know. He's said

02:24:12 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 2:

words before. Is there an occasional, like, swear word pop out of his mouth that he heard from mom or dad? Yeah, he's like a parent

02:24:18 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

right now, so anything you say, he repeats. He does. Like I say, damn. He'll just say, damn!

02:24:25 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 what's the worst thing that your kid ever swallowed that freaked you out and eventually does it come out like we still haven't gotten that penny back so he still only has one lucky penny

02:24:38 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 3:

yeah there's only one if we find it too i don't know what i think i'm gonna keep it it'll be the

02:24:43 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 2:

ultimate lucky penny could you imagine if it stays in his system forever until he's a grown 25 30 year old and then all of a sudden poops it out and poops it out and is i think that can happen

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

can it can't stuff like randomly stay in your body his wife says to him hey

02:25:00 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 3:

hey, is there a penny in the...

02:25:02 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 2:

He'd call you guys up in a second

02:25:04 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

and go, you're not going to believe it. The penny finally came out of me.

02:25:08 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 2:

We had something like this happen with Ces where she said she swallowed a penny and she didn't actually swallow the penny. We thought she swallowed the penny and so we were doing the same thing. We took her to the doctors, got the x-ray or anything and they're like, there's nothing in there. Hey, Jake.

02:25:23 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Jake?

02:25:26 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo. I have to tell you, man, And my kid, my 12-year-old boy, he swallowed some Chinese, some beef and noodles, steak.

02:25:36 - 02:25:36 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:25:36 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, a piece of steak was like six inches long. And it folded over on itself and he swallowed and he choked on it.

02:25:43 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:25:44 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

I literally had, yeah, I literally had to give him the Heimlich and turn around and stick my fingers down his throat to pull it up out.

02:25:50 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Thank God you did.

02:25:52 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Is he okay? That was a scary situation. Yeah. I took him to the ER the following morning. I ended up actually putting two holes in the back of his throat from my fingers.

02:26:07 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:26:08 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 1:

Getting it down in there and pulling it out. Oh, jeez. Yeah.

02:26:11 - 02:26:12 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:26:12 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 4:

By the way, this is so grave. I did not know that that was even possible. I don't know if I could eat Chinese food ever again. Me neither.

02:26:19 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, man. That was scary. Oh, gee.

02:26:23 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea always says that I put so much food in my mouth sometimes that I'm going to choke Can you imagine Jake putting his fingers down my throat? Hey, Sarah, what's up?

02:26:35 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Yeah, honey. When our daughter was three, you know how you had your daughter's hair and all these pretty little barrettes? Oh, yeah. Well, she got one of the barrettes and swallowed it. It got stuck in her throat. So imagine the panic in everybody's face trying to get this barrette out. Yeah. It shouldn't be. Yeah. And then we just see the x-ray. My mother had to stick her finger. Oh, so you got it out.

02:26:57 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 3:

Your mother stuck her what? Her finger's down the throat, too?

02:27:00 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 4:

Finger. My mother stuck her. We had to stick her finger in there to get the burrito out.

02:27:05 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:27:05 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 4:

Or she probably would have died. I didn't believe she was dead.

02:27:08 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

After Jake a second ago, you can actually poke holes. I didn't realize you could poke a hole. That's crazy. Me either. Me either. Thanks for the call, Sarah. I appreciate it. Hold on. Katie, what did your kid swallow?

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my goodness. So, long-time caller, long-time listener. Thank you.

02:27:26 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Katie.

02:27:28 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 6:

Woo, yes, of course. So, my son swallowed a cascade pod, like, for the dishwasher. Oh, God. He was also three, like, Mike's son, Sebastian. Holy cow. So, he just came out with, like, the little, like, pebbles of the cleaner around his lips. And I was like, oh, my goodness, what did you do? So, I did what the last caller did. Shove my fingers down his throat and got a lot of water in there, but he was okay, thank goodness. Scariest moment of my life.

02:27:53 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if the Cascade pods are as bad as Tide pods, because remember those kids were all getting poisoned.

02:27:58 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 5:

I think so, who knows? Oh.

02:28:00 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Kendra, what did your kid swallow?

02:28:04 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 5:

Mojo. First time, long time. Hey. It wasn't my kid, actually. It was me. I swallowed a penny, too. Oh. This was like 30 years ago.

02:28:16 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 3:

All right, so tell Mike, Mike, listen to this one. Kendra, say hi to Mike. Hi, Mike.

02:28:21 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Kendra.

02:28:21 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, so from your being a child like Sebastian, Mike's son, you swallowed a penny. What happened?

02:28:29 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was pretty young now, so I don't remember, but I have a story, and I swallowed the penny. And my parents, I still have the penny, actually. It's a memory book. And my parents said it was the cleanest penny that they'd ever seen, like, the finest penny they'd ever seen. After it came out. Your body cleaned it? After it came out. My body is like a penny-cleaning machine. It just...

02:28:49 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

it's probably like your stomach acid or something right how long did it take for the the penny to

02:28:56 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 5:

come out my parents said the next day it came out they called the doctor and the doctor was like you know it's it'll come out one way or the other and it came out wow searching for a week and a half you got a good system right and my daughter swelled a you know those squishy emojis like the little kid squishy things. She swallowed one of those. It also came out

02:29:18 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 3:

the next day. Oh, my gosh. So, Mike, do you have to put your fingers through Sebastian's duty? Every single time.

02:29:28 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 5:

No, Mike's

02:29:30 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 3:

doing that now. Mike's looking for the penny.

02:29:33 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you would have to make sure it came out. You had to find it.

02:29:37 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 2:

I do want to find it now and put it in, like, a book somewhere.

02:29:40 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 4:

You have to keep it.

02:29:42 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 2:

That's actually very funny. What if he didn't

02:29:44 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 4:

actually swallow the penny and you guys are sifting through for no reason well that's why

02:29:48 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

we didn't take him to the doctors we called we asked him and they're like just watch and see if he has any like issues with anything and he drank a bunch of water so he did it wasn't like in his esophagus or anything yeah so we he might not

02:30:00 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 3:

We might just be searching for it. Hold on. One last call. Anna's grandpa. You've never met him, Mike. His name is Pops. Hey, Pops. Hey, hold on. Hey, Pops.

02:30:10 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing? Welcome to the Mojo Crew.

02:30:13 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, Mike's been a part of the Mojo Crew for a long time. He left us to go do a radio show on B93, Pops. It's the number one country station in the state of Michigan.

02:30:25 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 2:

But he'll never forget you.

02:30:27 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, Pops, what's the story?

02:30:29 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what do you got, Pops? You got a story about swallowing something?

02:30:32 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 2:

Just before I came from Florida to Michigan, I was in the E.I. room for dehydration. And while I was there, they brought in a little boy that had swallowed three or four coins. Oh. So I was there about an hour. But when I was leaving, I got the nurse, and I said, how's that little boy doing? She said, no change yet. Ah, that's good. I don't even know if that's a real story. That's good. I like you already.

02:31:03 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 3:

I like you already. Hey, Pops, would you like to be Sebastian's adopted grandpa and sift through his duty for this? Mike would love to have that. Can you imagine that, Mike?

02:31:18 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

I have three kids, 18 grandchildren. I have never changed a diaper.

02:31:23 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 3:

In your life. How did you do that? In my life, so I never would. He's a true man. The man of the house. I'm not changing a diaper. I love it, Pops.

02:31:34 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 2:

And guess what? I'm probably not far away from being in diapers. I love you, Pops. It just depends. Man, he's one of them today.

02:31:46 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 3:

Mike, I get a better idea. Would you like Pops to be a regular caller on B93 with you and Allie? Yeah, absolutely. If he comes with that fire, absolutely. Love the cops. We'll talk to you later.

02:32:00 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 2:

02:32:45 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:32:48 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 3:

Caitlin, ready for five lies to tell your mom?

02:32:51 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 1:

Yes, sir.

02:32:52 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

I love it. Bianca, what are we doing?

02:32:55 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 1:

All right, so Caitlin works at an assembly plant, and her manager flirts with her all the time. So we're going to pretend that they got caught making out in the storage closet. Oh, God.

02:33:04 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 3:

Does that ever happen? Does anybody ever make out in storage closets there?

02:33:11 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 1:

I've heard a little bit about the first aid closet.

02:33:15 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the first aid, okay. Band-aids make you horny. Here we go. Usually it's just a cabinet. Five Lies. These are the lies that you have to listen for, and if you can get through them all, and we can officially say that your mom is a victim of a phone scam, we're going to give your mom a prize, okay?

02:33:34 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:33:35 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 3:

That was my stomach there. Did you hear that?

02:33:37 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 1:

I think that was your throat. It was your, that was a throat.

02:33:39 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

No, it came from right here. It was like, yeah, right there. Sorry. Here we go. So lie number one, mom, I think I'm getting fired. Lie number two.

02:33:53 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 1:

My boss asked me to take shots with him.

02:33:56 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 3:

Lie number three. Then we ended up making out in the closet. Lie number four.

02:34:01 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 2:

Then someone walked in on us.

02:34:03 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 3:

And lie number five, can you try to call my work and help me get out of this? Ready for five lies?

02:34:13 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:34:14 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to dial your mom up and see what happens. It's five lies to tell your mom.

02:34:18 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

This is kind of what I mean. It should have never happened. Like, I don't know him. He's just so hot. He's just hot. Excuse me? He's just so hot. He's cute. That don't matter. His personality is probably shitty. He's got a wife. You think he's wanting around on you? I don't understand you You guys can't be faithful

02:36:05 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey Caitlin's mom

02:36:08 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 2:

02:37:32 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 3:

02:37:35 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 2:

02:37:37 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 3:

And what is that?

02:37:38 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 2:

We make ***.

02:37:40 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. So you're working your ass off there, and Caitlyn's having fun with us.

02:37:45 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 2:

Right. I'm sweating.

02:37:48 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Well, we got to get you that prize. We'll get you something nice. Thank you, Mom, for being a good sport.

02:37:55 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 2:

Yep, thank you.

02:37:56 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning.

02:37:58 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 2:

Five to meet. Four, five.

02:37:59 - 02:38:00 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:38:01 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:38:07 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 3:

Morgan Wallen tickets. Text to win. Text WANT. W-A-N-T. it's what I want it's what I want your chance to win tickets to see Morgan Wallen text WANT W-A-N-T to 95500 and you have a chance to win tickets 95500 I feel like I was like picking my nose but I wasn't I have like this itch in the crevice of my nose

02:38:36 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

right here

02:38:37 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 3:

last night so Chelsea was out of town for a bit she was down in Tampa And she was supposed to come home, like, this weekend, but because Bertha, this tropical whatever it is, they kept canceling her flights. So she finally was able to get out, okay? Comes home. It was awesome. Spent time together. We golfed yesterday. She and I golfed, which was awesome.

02:39:03 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 1:

Before the storm.

02:39:05 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 3:

Went and had dinner.

02:39:06 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 1:

Fun.

02:39:07 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 3:

And I was told I have the longest nose hairs ever. This is the most amazing thing.

02:39:13 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 2:

By her?

02:39:14 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

Yes. The one thing I do love about my wife is she's very good at pointing things out to me. Like some might actually be offended by that. I was at some point in my life. But it was like, she's like, you have a nose hair that is touching your mustache. It was that long.

02:39:32 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 1:

I always say that to Wes, and his response to me is always, pull it. We'll pull it. I'm like, I'm not doing that.

02:39:39 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Can you actually pull a nose hair and not hurt yourself?

02:39:42 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 1:

If I can get it like in my nail like this, I can, but I don't like doing it.

02:39:48 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 3:

I wish that they had a nose hair trimmer that was better than the ones that they have.

02:39:53 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 1:

You've talked about this several times. You should just create one.

02:39:56 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 3:

But I want one where it's like a weed wax. You know, like where it goes, like, you know, those things that you have? That would hurt so bad. I don't care. Like, I don't even care. Like, just make it just enough soft to not, like, make you bleed.

02:40:10 - 02:40:14 | Speaker 5:

Why don't you just do the at-home waxing? That's what I was thinking. You just need to get waxed.

02:40:14 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 3:

So I do get waxed. So I go to be waxed. I can't do that myself. Just one, two, three, go. Shannon, I don't even make my own meals when Chelsea's not home. Have Chelsea do it.

02:40:25 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 4:

She'll do it for you.

02:40:27 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't think she would. I ask her to shave my neck for me because I don't like to go get a haircut as much as I used to because my hair is like thinning a little bit, you know? So I kind of like hold off. I used to go get a haircut. I was like regular every two weeks. Now I'm like kind of like a month or like three weeks. I stretch it a little bit, but I like her to shave my neck and she's not into it.

02:40:49 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 4:

Wes asks me to do neck all the way to butt. Neck to butt.

02:40:53 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 5:

My dad wants to make me shave his neck.

02:40:55 - 02:40:59 | Speaker 4:

Neck, back, right here, lower back.

02:40:59 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, it's, but the other thing too is, and this is the other thing too, is part of me is, doesn't like the idea of her grooming me because she's supposed to look at me like the ultimate man.

02:41:09 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 5:

You just want to come home looking. Yeah.

02:41:11 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 3:

Like I, I don't picture George Clooney has a mall grooming him, you know?

02:41:16 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 4:

That makes sense. Yeah. He's probably got some other hot girl grooming him. See, I'd rather be the one doing it.

02:41:20 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 3:

Or Ryan.

02:41:21 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 4:

Good point.

02:41:21 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Ryan Reynolds does not have Blake Lively grooming him.

02:41:24 - 02:41:25 | Speaker 4:

I bet they do.

02:41:25 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 3:

You think they groom each other?

02:41:26 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:41:27 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't know necessarily if that's a good idea. 844, or no, no, no, no. I was going to give out a phone number and just all of a sudden randomly. Oh, yeah, I guess you could call. You can call about the grooming thing if you want to. Do you groom your man or woman?

02:41:44 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 5:

Let's have Bianca do it, and we'll stream it live, and we'll get so many views.

02:41:48 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 3:

That's sexual harassment.

02:41:50 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 5:

Pulling out your nose hairs.

02:41:51 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 3:

And we already worry about you and Kevin in a sexual harassment lawsuit.

02:41:55 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 4:

He has to bring it up. Right. In some way. So there it is.

02:41:59 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 3:

I just don't want to have anything like that happen.

02:42:01 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 4:

That's the second time. It is.

02:42:03 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 3:

So, you know, I don't know. The funny thing is, I think it would be hot to groom Chelsea. But I don't necessarily. Actually. Like it would be like awesome like that, you know, to do.

02:42:14 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 5:

Shave her?

02:42:16 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 3:

She, I would not like that. I know guys who do like doing that.

02:42:19 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 5:

I would not like that. Yeah.

02:42:20 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 3:

But as a guy, I don't necessarily know if I want her doing that to me because I think she'll see things and she'll go, there is no way I'm having sex with this guy ever again.

02:42:31 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 5:

I could see it going both ways. Yeah. Or she sees things she likes. Not on you. Underneath all that hate.

02:42:39 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 3:

Not on you throwing that one out there. All right. Let me get to the dirty.

02:42:45 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

02:42:47 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow, this is big news. This is big breaking news. I'm bummed that Kev's off this week because I do think that the LeBron thing is going to come out this week. But what do you got, Shannon?

02:42:54 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 4:

He's off this week, and we don't have to talk about it at great length during the dirties. Where is LeBron going? We are all still, well, some people are still wondering. And now I think, and please correct me if I'm wrong here, Mojo, the number one guess is the Miami Heat. Is that where people think or are speculating that he's going?

02:43:13 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 3:

The social media team for the Miami Heat accidentally posted something with LeBron. Yeah. Yes. So ESPN's been talking about this, and here's some of their talk.

02:43:25 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

That is the Miami Heat's pitch to LeBron James, that they are the best basketball fit for him. They're taking Perk's film and just saying, look at this. I don't know if they quite need the film, but I enjoyed it. Their pitch to him is, look, we have Bam and Giannis. That is the best backline defense you could ask for. You're not going to have to be playing this small ball five like you had to do in L.A. a lot of times. These guys are going to be back there to clean up everything there. And then on the perimeter, you have Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell. Those guys are great perimeter defenders. And so in the first three quarters, Giannis can have the ball in his hands. He can get downhill. He can lead the offense. But in that fourth quarter where LeBron James' experience will shine, that's when he can take over. And that's their pitch to him from a basketball fit. And I think the longer this goes on, the more I hear the heat as a destination. But again, in the absence of real information, this is theorizing.

02:44:16 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 4:

It's Ramona Shelburne, by the way. LeBron's agent, Rich Paul, says all in good time, people.

02:44:24 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 2:

Just have a little patience with him. Obviously, Pat, it's his choice. I have a job to do to set the table for him, but it's his choice. It's a very important choice for him. You cannot rush it. I think he's earned the right not to be rushed.

02:44:37 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 4:

This is a dumb question. Is there a deadline? He has to make a decision by what date?

02:44:42 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

We talked about this on our show. So the NBA has not even put a schedule together for next year because they're not going to do it and tell you who's playing who and when the TV networks are covering games until they figure out where LeBron's at. They want this to happen sooner than later. I'm sure that the commission...

02:45:00 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 4:

is probably pushing this to go faster, but there really is none. If he wanted to, he doesn't have to come back until the playoffs and sign with a team.

02:45:09 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. And then he can just join a team?

02:45:11 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 4:

I think there's a legal thing of how many regular season games you do play, so you might have to play a certain amount soon, but I think that he could wait as long as he wants to. And a lot of people think that this is a very LeBron thing to do, that he is trying to make everybody, you know, talk more about it because he wants to be talked about a lot. I don't necessarily think that that's the case. I think that LeBron's enjoying his summer.

02:45:33 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you said golfing.

02:45:35 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 4:

They say he's golfing nonstop. The rumor is that he wants to be a scratch golfer.

02:45:39 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. In other sports dirty today, NFL analyst Ryan Clark talking about his ESPN firing on his Instagram yesterday. Fired in the middle of his shift while he was on the air. That was on Monday. Yesterday, Ryan writes, proof of life. Before the madness of yesterday, I woke up, got in my tundra, drove to Planet Fitness, and got to work. The rest of the day was eventful, but the journey continues. My peace is with God and my humility comes from within. I'll continue to build myself so the world can never strip me of what's real. Get moving today, y'all. His first take colleague, Stephen A. Smith, commenting on this very emotionally.

02:46:15 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 1:

A person that I consider to be arguably the best NFL analyst in America. And I can't even tell y'all how much that hurts. there's nobody that's going to be let go that was more of a friend and a brother to me than ryan clark it's a real shame some of the narratives they'll try to create doesn't bother me when people disagree with me because that stirs the cup and that's what makes all of us better it only bothers me when they get ill-informed and they get personal and ryan clark is somebody that was a man amongst boys when it came to stuff like that there's nothing that he'd say on social media on television that he wouldn't tell you to your face he's not somebody that i just loved working with he's somebody that i love period that i will always be here for there's a

02:46:57 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 4:

lot of people pointing fingers at stephen a for him getting fired twofold one that he makes a ton of money but he also you know is very popular but also the other thing too is they say that there are two factions at espn one is the stephen a uh people that he's with and talks to all the time and then the other is the pat mcafee and everybody says it's team mcafee right now yeah

02:47:19 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. J.J. Watt actually mentioned that while he was on with McAfee yesterday.

02:47:24 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 3:

Did they buy NFL Network this year? Who? They did. Did they? That's crazy. Did they keep anybody, or is everybody fired to pay you? I'm trying to figure it out. That's not funny. That's not funny. We do not like that. We do not appreciate that. That is the narrative, and I'm certainly taking it on the shins. The boys and I are very proud of the work that we have done. Thanks a lot, Moana. Good God. I mean, come on.

02:47:46 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 4:

It is wild, though, how McAfee, when he's uncomfortable, looks uncomfortable.

02:47:51 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you could tell. Yeah. And lastly, a Louisiana woman's very first cruise vacation that she had saved up for turned into a nightmare after she injured her Christmas, resulting to it growing to the size of a grapefruit. On day three of her carnival cruise with her boyfriend, this woman goes on this like excursion in Honduras. she does some sort of like rope swing over the water she swings out the line tightened between her legs just before she dropped so it was like there she was unable to walk they had to wheel her in a wheelchair back to her room on the ship the ship she was treated by the medical professionals on board but the swelling kept going so it gets to the size goes to baseball goes to the size of a grapefruit her condition continues to deteriorate so they're like we're gonna have to air evacuation we're gonna have to do an air evacuation to get you home 30 grand she has to pay ended up undergoing surgery in fort lauderdale because this thing got so bad had to have two back-to-back surgeries because of an excursion on her carnival cruise man i'm telling you isn't that insane that's why i go on vacations with no excursions all right miss anything from today you can always go back and catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:49:14 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm excited. Real quick, can we make sure, Jay, would you sit in Kev's chair right there? Because I think that you will look better. You'll look better there. That other chair. Will you turn on his light, please? That's Jay Towers, everybody. This is what it's like to have money. Look at this. Listen, you know, Well, I've never been to your Fox 2 Southfield Studios.

02:49:41 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 3:

It's like everything you remember from the 90s.

02:49:44 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 4:

Is it really? It is. Because it looks great on your site. It looks great on your J Towers social and everything. How are you? J Towers is here with us right now. This fit is fly. This guy. Cody said I look ridiculous.

02:49:57 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 3:

No, well, Cody and I have different styles. I like it. I said, it's Nike. She goes, it's not that color on you.

02:50:02 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 2:

I said, we'll do you. Okay.

02:50:04 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 3:

What is she wanting you to wear?

02:50:05 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:50:05 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're all used to you wearing black. Just as we are all used to Mojo wearing black. So when you guys wear a color, it's shocking.

02:50:13 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 1:

Jay, I was so nervous going to that Yacht Rock thing. You guys were there on Saturday. We were there on Friday. Yeah. I was like, am I going to dress right for the whole thing?

02:50:22 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 3:

I was having a panic attack because I didn't. What did you wear? I wore a green shirt, which I threw out when I got home. I'll never wear it again. I never wear it again.

02:50:30 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 2:

That's why you didn't like how you looked in pictures? I'm 700 pounds in every picture. I cannot wear green. Come on. You're so skinny. No, I'm not.

02:50:36 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 1:

You do look great, Jay. You seriously. No, thank you. You look great. But no, can I mention something to you?

02:50:41 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:50:41 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 1:

Try white pants.

02:50:43 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

02:50:43 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 1:

I wore white pants. Jay, I would never in a million years wear white pants in my life. I wore them. It looked good on me. I'm telling you.

02:50:51 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 3:

No, you need them. I heard you're going to a white party. The Trey Songz white party. Yes.

02:50:56 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 1:

Will you explain something to me? Yeah. Please. Yeah. What is going on? Like, I follow you on social. If you don't follow Jay Towers, follow Jay Towers on social.

02:51:04 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the plug.

02:51:05 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 1:

You are a, you're probably the biggest, you are. You're the biggest TV name in town. Yes, you are. You're the anchor on the number. His television station, his morning show that he does on Fox 2, has more ratings than all the other TV stations, including the Cartoon Network combined at his time.

02:51:26 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 3:

Period.

02:51:26 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 1:

Seriously, the biggest.

02:51:27 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Jay Towers. You're setting me up. What is going on?

02:51:30 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 1:

No, no. And then he has a morning radio show on 100.3 WNIC that is literally the number one radio station for women, aside from us.

02:51:43 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 3:

You're the number one station. You say it at the top of every hour. Well, that is true.

02:51:49 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 1:

That is true.

02:51:49 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 3:

We all can find a different way to be number one.

02:51:51 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 1:

And if you say it, believe it, right? That's right. But then I'm looking at your social and you were all about Superman for the longest time. Like you were doing, okay, you have your own Superman podcast, right?

02:52:04 - 02:52:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's in, what is it, it's in a hiatus. Hiatus. It's in hiatus.

02:52:08 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 1:

Is it like hiatus?

02:52:10 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 3:

We did like 60 episodes about the Christopher Reeve Superman series. I mean, after 60 episodes, I mean, there's no one left to interview or talk to.

02:52:17 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, we, you know. So lately, I have been noticing that you are going to a ton of concerts. You're going to wrestling now, too? I didn't go to wrestling. But I saw you interviewing.

02:52:29 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm friends with Dan Housen. That's all. I'm friends with him. Here's what I'm doing. This is my little midlife crisis. Okay. And you should know. I mean, I'm going to shows to connect with songs that I played on the radio earlier in my career that I wish I would have. Like, you know, I never saw, I never saw Brandy and Monica when we played them back in the day. So I saw that show and I loved new edition and back in the eighties and nineties. So I went to that show. Like, you know what I'm saying? I'm doing stuff that I connect with from back in the day.

02:52:57 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 1:

You, and for those.

02:52:59 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't have a reason for Trey songs.

02:53:01 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Those will remember this. DRQ was an amazing radio station. I will say this to you. It should have still stayed, been on the air and stayed on the air. They had, honestly, a bunch of wussy, you know, leadership at the time that didn't want to keep, continue a fight.

02:53:20 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 3:

There's no better way to keep a rhythmic radio station going than playing Matchbox 20.

02:53:24 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, that is true. I didn't wonder what happened. They changed. Okay, so you're going to all these concerts of these artists and stuff like that. I look at your stuff. Why doesn't WNIC just play that music? Like, it would be, honestly, a great transition for WNIC. To play a lot of that throw? Because that's now the music that every one of your listeners grew up with.

02:53:47 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 3:

We do play that. We play Snap Rhythm as a dancer. Shannon knows that song.

02:53:53 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 1:

I love that song. Do you play the power, too, from Snap? No, I wish we did.

02:53:57 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 3:

I got the power. I wish we did. I'm going to try. I'll ask. I'd like to do, like, yeah, it'd be fun to do a little throwback show. I got to be on Mix 92.3 a couple of weeks ago, so that was the best. Like, you did a shift? Yeah.

02:54:07 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 1:

I told Tony.

02:54:08 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Just because I like that music.

02:54:10 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 1:

I said to Tony, I go, Tony, you better be careful. I don't know what kind of contract you have, Jay, and I'm not going to get in your personal business.

02:54:16 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 3:

I should have you do mine.

02:54:17 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 1:

But I'm going to say this to you. Yeah. The Bounce may want to hire you. Stop. Don't even put that in the universe. You may get on the Bounce. Literally, you get more up close with the Bounce artist than you do.

02:54:30 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

02:54:30 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 1:

Listen, it's huge.

02:54:32 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 3:

Our home is iHeartRadio, and we love it.

02:54:33 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, Jay, stay here for a second. Don't go anywhere because we're going to make radio history. Three radio hosts in one. My son Joe is on the phone. Oh, my gosh. 02:55:30 - 02:55:33 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, don't evade Joe's question

02:55:33 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 2:

Joe, your mom and I would listen to And I think that you If I'm not mistaken I used to tell your mom all the time That the music that I used to love You know what I think you were conceived to?

02:55:45 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 1:

One of the artists that Jay just hung out with

02:55:47 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 2:

I think honestly I think you might have been conceived to The Tony Rich project Nobody knows it but me? I think so. Joe?

02:55:56 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 1:

Nice.

02:55:57 - 02:56:00 | Speaker 2:

What year did... I don't know. Is that Katie? Hi, Katie. How you doing?

02:56:00 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Katie. Hi, Mojo. I'm good. Hey, guys.

02:56:02 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 2:

Wait, Joe, what came out in 19... Joe, you were born in what year? 95? Yeah, but he would have been conceived in... 94. All right. Yeah, way back before. All right.

02:56:14 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Do you want to know what the top song was? Yeah. But it's on a ballad. Ace of Base, The Sign.

02:56:20 - 02:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Joe, you might have been born to Ace of Base, The Sign.

02:56:22 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 1:

Nope. You know what it was? What? Boys to Men, I'll Make Love to You. That might be it.

02:56:27 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Jay, have you seen Boys to Men yet?

02:56:29 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 1:

Mariah Carey Hero.

02:56:31 - 02:56:31 | Unknown:

Fantastic.

02:56:31 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Oh, my God. Mariah Carey Hero. Joe, I guarantee you. So good ones.

02:56:37 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 1:

I swear, all for one. I got very excited there.

02:56:40 - 02:57:00 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Can I tell you? I can love you like that. We're talking about this with Jay because, you know, Jay's loving these artists again and going to a lot of these shows. Joe, would you want to go, because I'm hoping Jay invites me, to go to the shows, and you'll go, and you'll listen to a song, and I'll say, Joe, that's the song right there that you were conceived to.

02:57:01 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 3:

Hell yeah. That's why I like going to Disney. I was conceived at Disney.

02:57:05 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 2:

You like what's that?

02:57:08 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 3:

That's why I like Disney. I was conceived at Disney.

02:57:10 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Joe was conceived. Jay, you know this because you go to Disney all the time. Joe was conceived at probably the worst hotel at Disney. What hotel was that? The, uh, you know what I'm saying?

02:57:20 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Port Orleans. Port Orleans. It's a good hotel. That's where Disney puts you when they just don't care. I brought up to the Disney people that I've been conceived at Disney, and they don't care. They're like, okay, we don't care. It was true.

02:57:38 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea and I honeymooned at Disney. Is that not the worst?

02:57:41 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 3:

No, I think that's true. Mom just texted. She says, you're a liar. Wait, wait, no.

02:57:46 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean? Why am I a liar?

02:57:47 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 3:

I think she's, I think she, because we just called her up on the show, but she's definitely listening to you because she doesn't listen to me. She said that I was conceived on a cruise.

02:57:58 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 2:

On a cruise ship. So the carnival cruise, because we did, my dad bought us our honeymoon. So grandpa bought the honeymoon and we did three days at Disney, three days on a cruise. And I don't, I don't think we, Chels, you may be wrong on this one because I don't think we had sex on the cruise ship. I think the cruise.

02:58:17 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 1:

For three days on your honeymoon? You should have been doing it every day three times a day.

02:58:21 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 2:

It was a sign of things to come, by the way, I think.

02:58:27 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 3:

I can't wait to think of all this next time I'm at Porto. I can't wait. That's so great. Who was it? The visual.

02:58:37 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 2:

All right. Joe, Katie, Jed. Is Ashley still on her birthday vacation? Yeah, she's on vacation. Sabbatical, yeah. All right. We love you. Love you guys. Jay and I are planning a trip. Now, here's what I want to do. And I know this is going to sound weird to you. Okay. I was offered to go to the Backstreet Boys in Vegas. Yeah, the Spear? Wait, none of us. What? Can we go to it? Yeah, we should go. So, yeah.

02:59:03 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm walking out. I have worked with you for going on 18 years. You know I want to go to that show so bad, and you invite him?

02:59:10 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm going to say a group of us could all go if we wanted to.

02:59:15 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 1:

But I want to do it. I will call him.

02:59:17 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 2:

In all the years, and by the way, Jay is so full of crap that he didn't go hang out with any of these artists because he was the music director at DRQ, and I would go to go do interviews back in the day when it was DRQ, Channel 955. He would get like 30 minutes with the artist. Denise George would walk out of the dressing room and go, all right, you got five. She was so mean to me. Was she? Oh, my God. I know. Well, look at you now. You're doing okay. Thank you, Jay. I love you. But thanks for coming in. I appreciate you. Thanks for having me. Jay Towers, everybody. We'll be right back. See the show live now on YouTube, TikTok Live, Facebook Live, or Twitch.

First off, I'm happy that he came in studio. I love that he comes in studio.

03:05:24 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 2:

I love that, too. I love the crossover.

03:05:25 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 1:

And a lot of people, like you were like, you ask him questions that are going to, you know, you're doing it to, I don't, I don't do it for any other reason.

03:05:33 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say that, I just said be nice.

03:05:35 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm a fan, but I'm also honestly a friend. I really do love the guy. And I love what he's done for me over the years by being there for me when I've had some of the hardest, you know, crap happen.

03:05:45 - 03:05:46 | Speaker 2:

Jay gave me my start in radio.

03:05:46 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Really?

03:05:47 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yeah, I was his intern.

03:05:49 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, he, for me. Oh, that's crazy.

03:05:51 - 03:05:53 | Speaker 3:

You were his and Chelsea was yours. Yep.

03:05:54 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 1:

Huh?

03:05:55 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, his co-host, was an intern for you. Oh, I think I met my wife, Chelsea.

03:05:59 - 03:06:01 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. What did Chelsea get from you?

03:06:01 - 03:06:02 | Speaker 3:

And then Shannon interned for him.

03:06:02 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No. Well, can I tell you something with Jay? I got sued by a person on the show years ago. And when I got sued, he was my first phone call that called me when it became a story. And he just basically, you know, gave me the greatest talking to, like basically said, hey, you know what? You fight this and you fight everything. And it was awesome. and then um when i had my heart stuff he was he was one of the the first people that called me and said hey man i'm i'm here for you so thank you to jay for that and he's also this is another thing too joe used to say this all the time he was a great mentor for joe yeah coming up in radio because you don't need your son to be but did you see how jay joe they had a good relationship yeah yeah so it was cool and i and i like that and jed and ashley also say the same thing too jay's always been so good all right it's mojo in the morning show so shannon has a topic that she's going to bring up here right now and i'm so glad you're doing this doing this because i wanted to talk about it because i want to know what's going on in this world right now it's it's getting crazy but you you saw something happening at your at your dicks at my dicks at your dick's i love

03:07:10 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 2:

this dicks oh so much tell us uh so if i ever go to dick's sporting goods and with the kids you know being actually athletic unlike their mom i go there a lot and i go to the dicks in bloomfield on telegraph it's a great one by the way the good home goods and the good dj max is right there too when you're talking about okay and then there's a costco on the end anyway so uh a couple of days ago there was a huge theft at my dicks it was i think it was three girls and five yes was it yesterday or a few days ago no it was a few days ago okay uh but we we saw the video the reason i'm bringing this up is the video got released yesterday of these eight people three girls five guys go into like the nike section and steal almost eleven thousand dollars worth of stuff it was like a hundred and something items they stole and when i saw the video i thought imagine if i were there or anybody who was there at the time that this is happening that just had to be crazy to witness especially because the employees aren't allowed to do anything like they can't stop them or anything so you're just watching and i mean please google the video they're just grabbing

03:08:22 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 1:

i still don't like that that the that if you're an employee of a store that you can't tackle or beat up i would commend somebody for doing it but they don't want them to do it they don't want them to intervene if the person gets hurt uh and also you know what you know what i heard a lawyer told me one time if you hurt one of the criminals that are charged doing this they could potentially sue you no way which is ridiculous yeah so that happened there and then the lululemon downtown detroit got robbed also had i wonder for the same crew i don't know and then lydia was just telling

03:08:56 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 2:

me it happens all the time at the lulu at partridge creek people just run in and take stuff out the door but um it reminded me so much of a couple of years ago I was in Chicago and there's like a there was a J.Crew store right there on Michigan Avenue and I was in there when a crime was committed I watched this lady stage a slip and fall and I as soon as I came into the store I saw what she was doing she was like moving a rug around and I didn't really think anything of it until I heard the thud and heard her very fake, by the way, scream and everybody rushed over and over and over again, she was saying that she was going to sue, sue J crew or whatever. And I remember thinking I, this woman, this is a hundred million percent fake. Yeah. And so I ended up having to talk to security and I think they brought, I can't remember if they brought police in or if it was just security, but I had to like give a statement and it was what I saw because it was, it was fake.

03:09:52 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 1:

So you pointed it out and they probably went back and looked at video and saw that it was

03:09:55 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what they ended up doing, but yeah.

03:09:58 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 1:

I have always. wanted to know what it would be like and what my reaction would be like if I was in a bank when a bank got robbed like I that's my fear I see I would think that I would be probably held hostage well no cool enough like I don't want to have it be the hostage one where they got to lay on the ground because honestly I would get probably hyperventilating at that moment but if I was one of the ones that was there and like I could stop the robbery or stop the bank robbery you

03:10:26 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 5:

You would never do that. You would never do it.

03:10:29 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 4:

You'd be like, Chelsea, where's your garden?

03:10:32 - 03:10:38 | Speaker 1:

I would be on the news at night. I would give interviews. I would do all that stuff. They would put money in my account.

03:10:39 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever seen the memes of me annoying the person who kidnapped me? Mojo would annoy the heck out of the robbers. They would just be like, you gotta go.

03:10:45 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 5:

Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you this.

03:10:48 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 1:

Tell me this. It's more like, let me ask you a question. let me tell you a story about the time that i was in tucson let's rob a different one do you want

03:10:58 - 03:11:03 | Speaker 5:

to hear the google dolls acoustic performance from my studio in 2008 hold on i got a here i got it in

03:11:03 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 1:

my in my i got a cover that my friend shannon really likes to take a listen um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 have you ever been in the middle of something like this that dick sporting goods video if you haven't seen it i know metro detroit news has it and stuff but i'm going to tell you something with that when i watched it and i know you shop there for your kids you said i also shop at that same exact one i am usually in that section yeah not finding my size hold on hold on jacob how's it going good jacob what's going on

03:11:46 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 3:

not much so when i was 14 a while back i used to steal a lot from this target and one of the uh target employees caught me and body slammed me

03:11:56 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 1:

really they body slammed you and then did they beat you up in the back room you said

03:12:04 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 3:

no they didn't beat me up back there but they took me back there to wait for the cops and all that

03:12:09 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 1:

oh so did did you get arrested or what happened no i had to uh pay 500 worth of the stuff i was

03:12:16 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 3:

stealing what were you stealing uh back at school i used to sell candy so i'd steal the candy to

03:12:23 - 03:13:20 | Speaker 1:

make the money from school a hustle jacob uh i i want to ask you a question if you were in a store now because i'm assuming are you still in the criminal field now or did you move on what do you do now i'm a tow truck driver your tow truck driver if you were in a store and it's getting robbed would you step in as a customer and stop it from happening or would you be like yeah let these guys get what they want well i'm not doing nothing it's funny because i'm not getting involved If it was, like, a mom with her kids and she needed it, but these guys that are stealing this stuff, the guys that were at the Dicks, they look like they were just trying to cause problems. Like, they look like they're the ones that steal it and put it online, you know, or- Marketplace. Yeah. Like, they look like professional thieves, you know? Like, if you're a professional thief, I want to jump in. If you're- No, you don't.

03:13:20 - 03:13:25 | Speaker 5:

Now, it is not worth risking your health and your life for a track jacket.

03:13:26 - 03:13:30 | Speaker 1:

I have $10,000 worth of track jackets.

03:13:30 - 03:13:35 | Speaker 5:

Still. Dick's got $10,000. Dick's got money.

03:13:37 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but they're going to charge us more now because people are stealing from them. What's going on, Mike? How you doing?

03:13:43 - 03:13:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm good, man. How y'all doing today?

03:13:45 - 03:13:51 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic, Mike. Now, are you the innocent bystander that stopped the crime, or are you the criminal?

03:13:53 - 03:13:55 | Speaker 2:

I ain't stopped nothing, and I ain't no criminal.

03:13:55 - 03:13:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Tell me your story. What are you calling about?

03:13:59 - 03:14:52 | Speaker 2:

So back when I used to be a fire marshal at Warren Trump, like a year or two ago, right? One night, these guys decided to steal, like, 12 to 13 Grand Wagoneers. So they've got at least a million worth of cars. The crazy story about it, though, is they took, I guess they stole some truck, and so on 8 Mile and Mile, there's that Tim Hortons. Man, they backed that truck up all the way to the back of that Tim Hortons lot, floored it, rammed through the fence, took the fence down. They had, like, those metal guardrails that, like, be around, those crash bars. took that thing now and just in the camera you see 12 or 13 guys poking across the street from Nicky B's popping in those Grand Wagoneers pulling off out of there

03:14:52 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

these auto thefts are big a lot of people are saying that that's happening a lot of dealerships have had people steal can you

03:15:00 - 03:15:02 | Speaker 5:

imagine that? A million dollars worth of Grand Wagoneers.

03:15:04 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 2:

It's all insured. They're fine. They're all insured. It is unfortunate, but it's all insured. What do they

03:15:09 - 03:15:23 | Speaker 5:

do with the Grand Wagoneers when they get recalled and you stole the million dollars worth? They are? Somebody else has them? Hold on. Joseph was witness to a crime. What happened, Joseph?

03:15:25 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 2:

First time, long time.

03:15:29 - 03:15:29 | Speaker 5:

What's happened?

03:15:30 - 03:15:47 | Speaker 2:

in oh i was in a store this is when i was younger and i was saving money to buy my first trench coat and it was a london fog trench coat which was big back then were you gonna buy one because

03:15:47 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 5:

you were a flasher or what was your what was your reason i'm a teacher for god's sakes i don't go

03:15:55 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 2:

around flashing.

03:15:56 - 03:15:58 | Speaker 4:

She's a stylish man.

03:15:58 - 03:16:01 | Speaker 5:

So what happened when you were buying your London Fog trench coat?

03:16:02 - 03:17:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So I'm trying on this trench coat and I'm, you know, doing the responsible thing. I'm spending my own money. And this guy walks in from the door not too far away and acts like he's trying on the trench coat next to me, puts one arm in one sleeve, slides his other arm in the other sleeve, puts his old trench coat on the hanger and hangs it up and starts walking out right in front of me. And I'm about crapping down my leg, watching. Did you do anything? Yeah. And so he's walking, getting ready to walk past the security guard at the door. And I'm telling the security guard, grab him. He's stealing that coat. And a guard just, like, dismissed me, you know, flew his hand and dismissed me. And so that's what we have store insurance for. Oh, my God. And let him walk out. Yeah, so this guy got a nice trench coat for nothing. So what are the guards there to do?

03:17:09 - 03:17:15 | Speaker 5:

You know what I would do if I were you, Joseph? I'd walk out, too. If the guy's not stopping anybody, you should.

03:17:15 - 03:17:16 | Speaker 2:

Just shut up.

03:17:16 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just leave.

03:17:18 - 03:17:29 | Speaker 2:

It is confusing. But, you know, the problem with that was I was raised a nice Christian boy, you know, so I couldn't do that, you know, but.

03:17:29 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, thank you for the call.

03:17:32 - 03:17:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I just stood there. I couldn't believe it.

03:17:36 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 5:

I would have walked out. I would have walked out with the code at that moment. At that moment, I'm not a Christian boy. At that moment, at that moment, I'm hoping nobody notices me. uh what's going on jessica are you there hey i'm here jessica worked at bath and body works

03:17:53 - 03:18:07 | Speaker 3:

would people rob you guys a lot oh yeah so people especially during the holidays would bring like big purses in and just stiff arm clear off tables and put everything into their bag and we had to

03:18:07 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 4:

walk out the door oh my god it's crazy just let them go like get their faces off the cameras and do anything? Oh, yes. Okay. You do? So, like, the company's

03:18:18 - 03:18:30 | Speaker 3:

really big about safety, and so for our safety, we weren't allowed to, like, approach them. Sure. But what we'd do was we would be able to, like, input it into the computer system and then the company would handle it from, like,

03:18:30 - 03:18:42 | Speaker 5:

their side. Okay. Oh, okay. They should almost get these people's faces so that when they walk in, like, how did all these kids walk into Dick's and they didn't say, alright, this looks a little sketchy, like, there's middle of the day. They were all wearing the same

03:18:42 - 03:18:44 | Speaker 4:

outfit, too. Yeah, they're all on the same one.

03:18:44 - 03:18:51 | Speaker 5:

They thought they were a travel baseball team. Hold on. Julie is lost prevention for Walmart. Hi, Julie.

03:18:52 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Actually, I work for an attorney, and we represent the municipality that Walmart is in, so I do the warrants for them. Okay. And they have let people walk out, and they just give the film to the police, and they can do facial recognition, and the police will go right to their house and arrest them.

03:19:08 - 03:19:11 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Okay, so they are getting charged somehow.

03:19:11 - 03:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's for Walmart for us anyways. I mean, and it can be, sometimes they let these people do it two, three, and four times before they'll turn it in, and then they'll turn in all of them at once. So I always tell, like, my kids and grandkids that, you know, just because you think you get away with it, they could show up at your door three weeks later and arrest you.

03:19:28 - 03:19:37 | Speaker 1:

Even this video of the Dick's robbery, like, some of the faces you can see. Yeah. Like, if you knew that person, you would know it was them.

03:19:37 - 03:19:46 | Speaker 4:

They definitely didn't have gloves on. Walmart has facial recognition, so they can definitely, and then they just look up their address, and the police can go right to their house and just do them right there. Wow. Amazing. Thank you for the

03:19:46 - 03:19:53 | Speaker 5:

call. I appreciate it. Thanks. Alright. Why aren't you getting a call back? Why didn't she call

03:19:53 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 2:

me back? We'll find out next with Mojo in the Morning's Second Date Update.

03:19:56 - 03:19:59 | Unknown:

She was gonna have my babies. Whoa, whoa, whoa.

03:20:00 - 03:20:03 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:20:04 - 03:20:20 | Speaker 1:

Right now, second date update. Amanda says that she knows why she's not getting a call back, but she just wants confirmation. I kind of like this because I think everybody kind of knows where they went wrong, but they play dumb to the fact that that might have been a big enough deal breaker.

03:20:20 - 03:20:25 | Speaker 3:

Or maybe it was something else that you aren't even aware of, and this is going to help you figure it out.

03:20:25 - 03:20:31 | Speaker 1:

So Amanda's going to ask Mason real quick if it's what she thinks it is. Amanda, are you there?

03:20:32 - 03:20:34 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm here.

03:20:34 - 03:20:37 | Speaker 1:

Amanda, Mason's on the phone. Say hi to Mason.

03:20:38 - 03:20:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mason.

03:20:41 - 03:21:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey. First off, Mason, why aren't you? Well, you don't have to explain. I'll let Amanda ask. But it's interesting when a guy or a girl doesn't call somebody back. You almost kind of like go, God, at least call him back and say, you know, hey, this isn't going to work out. But I guess Amanda will get it on here right now. Amanda, go ahead. Ask your question to Mason.

03:21:04 - 03:21:13 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Is it, I know that like that parasite is going around and, you know, like, is that why you aren't talking to me anymore?

03:21:15 - 03:21:21 | Speaker 1:

Explain. Wait, you have it? Wait, explain, Amanda. You have that, that thing? You got that stomach stuff?

03:21:22 - 03:21:44 | Speaker 2:

I had it. Like, I had it, apparently, after our meal, like, I just kept going to the bathroom, and, like, I don't know, I got embarrassed by it, I just didn't feel good, and he told me it was all right, he told me it was fine, don't worry about it, and I just can't help but think that, I don't know, is that why? But it's not contagious.

03:21:44 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, but she was, yeah, it's not.

03:21:47 - 03:21:48 | Speaker 2:

It's not contagious.

03:21:48 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think she's talking about contagious. Did you spend your date in the bathroom?

03:21:53 - 03:21:53 | Unknown:

Poor girl.

03:21:54 - 03:22:11 | Speaker 2:

I was, like, constantly running to the bathroom. Like, we went back to his place, and it was so bad. I mean, I feel bad, and I felt bad. It was just awful. Why didn't you end the date and go home? I mean, I didn't know I had that at the moment, and I was kind of in at that point.

03:22:12 - 03:22:19 | Speaker 1:

So, Mason, was it that Amanda had to use the bathroom so much during the date that that was kind of a turnoff for you?

03:22:22 - 03:22:57 | Speaker 3:

Look, um, so yes and no. Um, no, like I, look, you gotta go to the bathroom. You gotta go to the bathroom. I understand that. Um, and I understand that there's this thing going around and obviously you have no control over that. I'm not trying to blame you for that at all. But, um, look, there was just a lot and the bathroom wasn't super clean, you know, after everything ended and, you know, for a first date and for all that to go on, it was just very off putting to say the least.

03:22:57 - 03:23:12 | Speaker 1:

And, um, so you, so you were not necessarily just, you know, having issues with the fact that she was not really with you most of the date. It was just the whole nature of the date. The whole thing had kind of a bad feel to it.

03:23:13 - 03:23:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, look, the date was fine, and, yeah, she came back to my place and all that stuff. How did you do that if you were not feeling well?

03:23:22 - 03:23:25 | Speaker 1:

Did you use the bathroom at his place, too, Amanda?

03:23:26 - 03:23:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I had to. I mean, I didn't know I was going to have this. I mean, obviously, I wouldn't have gone on, you know, but, like, next thing I knew, it was just, oh, my gosh, I think I'd be done. And then I, I mean, I wasn't, I wasn't doing it on purpose and obviously nobody wants that. No, of course not. No, I understand. Like you told me it was fine. And like, I, I believed you. And like, I mean, obviously I didn't ask for this.

03:23:55 - 03:24:25 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask? No, and it was fine, but it was fine. And I'm not, again, I'm not blaming you. It's just, I don't really know how to explain it in words. It's just one of those situations where, I guess, like, because of everything that happened and because it was just a first date, and, again, I'm not blaming you, and it was fine, and I completely understand that this is a weird bug that's going around or whatever the case may be, but, like, it's just one of those things where just the overall situation is just not, I don't know.

03:24:25 - 03:24:28 | Speaker 2:

If it was fine, you would be fine with calling her back.

03:24:28 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a quick question about this thing? Because there's this thing going around, obviously, and we know that a bunch of our listeners have gotten affected by this. Honestly, the only person that I really truly know that might have it is my buddy Paul said that he thinks he has it. And then Kenyatta, who's one of our Mojo in the Morning super fans. Like, actually tested. So when you go on a date with somebody, like I've been, you know, noticing that a lot of my guy friends go on dates and they will.

03:25:00 - 03:25:20 | Speaker 3:

say to me that are like you know i get turned off by a girl that comes to my place and wants to go use the bathroom like you know i mean like that i don't know even a bodily function especially if they're in there for a long period of time when you're going through this amanda are you doing it for a long time like were you in the bathroom for a long time or was it just more

03:25:20 - 03:25:31 | Speaker 6:

frequent visits i mean there was like a one or two times that it was like uncomfortably too long But then otherwise, as soon as I'd sit down, I'd have to go back.

03:25:32 - 03:25:42 | Speaker 3:

What do you think if you're on a date and the dude's in the bathroom for a long period of time? Or for guys, when a woman goes into the bathroom and you know that she's actually a dude-ing?

03:25:43 - 03:26:08 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I feel bad because she couldn't help it. And I don't think, like, I think if the date was going well, then she deserves a second chance. But at the same time, I'm my I'm boggled as to why you didn't say at like during dinner. I think I'm just going to go home. I am not feeling well. I would love to rain check this and like have a redo at another time. I'm clearly not well.

03:26:09 - 03:26:13 | Speaker 9:

Agreed. But it also sounds like he was telling her, oh, it's fine. I don't care.

03:26:13 - 03:26:16 | Speaker 5:

I'm pooping every five minutes. I want to go home.

03:26:17 - 03:26:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, hold on. Stephanie wants to comment. What's up, Stephanie? Hi.

03:26:20 - 03:26:32 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I just want to say that this guy's a turd, Ferguson. Like, totally. Like, what a jerk. She was sick, and he's totally unempathetic. So, dump him. Like, it's done. Be done.

03:26:33 - 03:26:40 | Speaker 3:

I think he doesn't seem like he's completely on. He let her come back to the house and use the bathroom. I don't think that was fully wrong.

03:26:41 - 03:26:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I just, I think he sounds kind of like a jerk. Like, I just do.

03:26:46 - 03:26:54 | Speaker 3:

I just, I do think that the timing was a bad timing. It's almost kind of like, hey, I'll see you in a few weeks when this thing goes through me. What's up, Sarah? How you doing?

03:26:55 - 03:26:57 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. I'm doing pretty good, everybody.

03:26:58 - 03:26:58 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

03:26:59 - 03:27:17 | Speaker 8:

I'm like the rest of all of you guys. She should have just went home. There is no way I'm going to go to a man's house and have diarrhea back and forth to the bathroom. You know, she probably spent half the time cleaning up behind herself while she was in there. But for him to end things, for him to end things, she should have shit all over him.

03:27:17 - 03:27:24 | Speaker 3:

I got to dump that. Yeah, you have to dump that. I got to dump. I'm sorry. Yeah, you can't say it. But that was funny.

03:27:24 - 03:27:35 | Speaker 5:

But also, too, like, if you're going back to somebody's house, obviously, like, one would make the assumption that maybe things would happen. I would not want to be touched. Exactly. I would not.

03:27:36 - 03:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Mason, you only invite a girl going back to your place because you think something's going to happen. Why would you think that that would be a good idea to invite Amanda back to your place? Why not just end it, you know, at the restaurant or whatever that you went to?

03:27:52 - 03:28:12 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I didn't know that she was going to sit there. I mean, look, here's the thing. You come back to my place and you've got to use the bathroom once or twice. It's not really a big deal, okay? Like, that doesn't bother me. People have to go to the bathroom. But, again, it's just one of the things where when you're constantly, like, when you're taking out and then you have to leave. And you, you know what I mean? It's just, it was weird. Why even invite her, though?

03:28:12 - 03:28:13 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

03:28:13 - 03:28:21 | Speaker 2:

You're home of War of the Roses, the five lives to tell your mom phone scams, and Shannon's Dirty on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:28:22 - 03:28:34 | Speaker 3:

I dumped your mouth-working comment there at that moment. Dirty girl. You're a dirty girl over there. By the way, that would have been a Kevin comment, too, by the way.

03:28:34 - 03:28:37 | Speaker 9:

I didn't know it got dumped. I feel like a sense of accomplishment.

03:28:38 - 03:28:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is that your first time ever?

03:28:40 - 03:28:41 | Speaker 9:

I think second.

03:28:41 - 03:28:47 | Speaker 3:

Second time. Okay. We're done for today. Today was actually a good show. I thought it was really good.

03:28:48 - 03:28:50 | Speaker 5:

It was good. So was Monday, so was Tuesday.

03:28:50 - 03:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's been a great week.

03:28:51 - 03:28:52 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it has.

03:28:52 - 03:29:24 | Speaker 3:

I do miss Kev, though. There's times where I'm just like, man, I would love to have Kevin's perspective on this. But also, I like when Kevin just randomly says something that makes me kind of giggle.
