WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:24 - 00:00:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:26 - 00:00:42 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:00:42 - 00:00:43 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:43 - 00:00:45 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:46 - 00:00:47 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:00:50 - 00:00:52 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:00:52 - 00:01:25 | Speaker 5:

We got a lot of stuff to talk about today. Today is the very last day that you can get qualified for our summer of cars, cash, and gas. So today is it, your last day to get qualified. Tomorrow is the grand finale. We will not qualify anybody past today. So be listening. We'll have four chances for you just before the dirties on the 30s at 6, 7, 8, and 9, right at the bottom of the hours. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. What did you do yesterday with your son? With Josiah?

00:01:26 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I didn't do anything with him. I picked him up from school, and I don't know if they were, not school, but, like, vacation school or whatever, summer camp. All of a sudden, he started asking me, and he's never asked me this before, but he asked to learn how to drive. And he's 12 years old. I don't think I started learning how to drive that early. Like, I might have did the whole sit in your dad's lap and, like, hold the wheel. And I think I might have done that maybe once or twice with Josiah. But I also don't feel like I need to teach him how to drive. I feel like there are professionals that can do that.

00:01:58 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 5:

Wait, he asked you, said, hey, will you do this? And this is a good bonding moment. I actually think that you should be the one that gets behind the wheel with him before he even does any of his pre-stuff. Which, by the way, it starts early and earlier. I didn't start until I think I was like 15. Now they start at like 14 in like three months or something like that. It's like something crazy in the state. In Michigan, especially, they do something. They start early. Like, think about this. Josiah, you said, is 12?

00:02:29 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:02:29 - 00:02:31 | Speaker 5:

He's going to be 13 in how much?

00:02:31 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 4:

Whenever February comes around.

00:02:33 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so he's six months away from being 13 years old, basically, or a little longer than that. Think about that one year from now when he's that. You're going to be preparing him for a driver's ed class because at 14 years old is when you start looking for that. I'm good.

00:02:47 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 4:

I think a driving instructor, someone who knows how to handle children, and plus the people that have the gas and the brake on both sides of the car. I remember one time when I started driving, I had a driver instructor. He took me to, like, the back of a bank. I was kind of scared because I'm like, why are we here?

00:03:02 - 00:03:03 | Speaker 5:

What are you about to do with me?

00:03:03 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 4:

Was he teaching you how to be a getaway driver or something? I don't know. What was going on? Like, sir, where are the cones? Like, what's going on? But he told me to back into a parking spot. Yeah. And I slammed on what I thought was the brake, and it was the gas. Yeah. And if he didn't have the brake on his side, we would have went through that brick wall. Really? I love Josiah, but what am I going to do if he hit the gas and not the brake?

00:03:26 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but go somewhere if there's no other cars. That's one of my favorite memories with my dad is him teaching me how to, quote-unquote, drive his—he had a little MG convertible. Actually, he still has it. And we would go in, like, the Knights of Columbus parking lot, and there'd be nobody else there. and he would teach me. It was so fun. That's all Josiah wants to do. He doesn't want to get out on the road.

00:03:49 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, that was actually mine too. My favorite moments were not so much my dad, but my big brothers. My big brothers taking me out driving. We also had a riding tractor, a riding lawnmower. You did? Yeah, because we had a lot of lawns. So we used to have this riding lawnmower that we'd do. So I'd take that thing sometimes up to go get ice cream and be driving down the street. People would be looking like, what's that guy doing? But then with my kids, with my three sons, I would take them to OCC, the community college's, you know, parking lot. It was a huge parking lot. And I would go there on weekends sometimes and just let them go crazy. I'm not going to lie to you. I was fearful when they were driving around like light poles.

00:04:32 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 4:

Exactly.

00:04:32 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 5:

You know, but I was, you would sit there and scream at them. Or you could reach over and put the thing, the gear shift and park, you know.

00:04:39 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 4:

Why don't you ruin your car like that?

00:04:40 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, look at that.

00:04:42 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 2:

Josiah is such a responsible kid. It's not like he's going to go nuts.

00:04:46 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 4:

I know, but all responsibility goes to the wayside when you're having fun.

00:04:51 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 5:

I'm shocked. You're usually an experienced guy with Josiah.

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're no fun. We can go go-kart racing all you want, but getting behind the wayside.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

of an actual vehicle i'm gonna need you to go to school alan is it too young for cav to let josiah

00:05:06 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 6:

just learn how to drive no yeah our local track you're allowed to race if you are 14 with a permit

00:05:14 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 3:

really where's this at where where's your uh your hometown rapids okay so uh you can go

00:05:21 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 6:

race your car around the track um if you are part of like the racing circuit you're allowed at 14 with a learner's permit.

00:05:32 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 3:

We have a track that's here that's where all the rich dudes have really nice cars. It's called the M1 Raceway thing. It's over in Pontiac. You should see if you can take... Although they may not let Kevin out there. His car would be leaking oil and stuff. Actually, when is Gabar and Zod Ford getting you that Mustang? You call him. That's when it should happen.

00:05:53 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 6:

It sounds like Kevin needs to get in that Chevy track. I know. Let's do it. Yeah, I wish I could, but I'd probably get sued.

00:06:00 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 3:

No, get Josiah.

00:06:02 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 6:

Actually, you need to get a hold of Tondo Luan and get something from Kia.

00:06:05 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Why don't we do that? Da-da-da-da-da-da Kia. It's not Ford around here. I'll tell you what. You bring Josiah tomorrow to our giveaway of this car that we're doing, and I'm going to have him go on a test drive with Mona. Mona's going to take him down Ford Road. Sign your waivers. Nicole, what's going on?

00:06:27 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 7:

You're about to get a text from Mona.

00:06:28 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, so, you know, driver's training starts at 14 and nine months.

00:06:33 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Is that what it is? Nine months. Okay, so it's 14 and nine months, almost 15 years old. Isn't that crazy how young that is?

00:06:40 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

It's very crazy. I've went through it, you know, three times now. So, yeah, it's insane. It is a little young, I feel like, but I don't know.

00:06:47 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 3:

When did you take your kids out?

00:06:48 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

I've seen your son how to drive. So my youngest is 16 now. Well, I took her out driving, maybe she was 13.

00:06:59 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:07:00 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

I just sat on my lap, and I did the pedals.

00:07:03 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 3:

See?

00:07:03 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 1:

And then she just steered.

00:07:04 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

And, Nicole, this was after a night of you drinking too many range waters?

00:07:10 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not.

00:07:11 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

No. That's when you learn how to drive. You know, that's when my brother learned how to drive. Nicole, this is no joke. My brother, Tony, learned how to drive when he was 14 years old or 13 years old, and my dad had too much at Chi-Chi's that night. So Chi-Chi's. We went for dinner and margaritas, and my mom had her car, my dad had his car, and my dad was like, I'm not feeling it. Back then, honestly, I think people were driving drunk all the time, but my dad was responsible. He let a 13-year-old sober kid learn how to drive at that time. What's going on, Kristen?

00:07:46 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I was like, I'm thinking take him go-karting for like the next year. And then actually, Mojo, I agree with you. I took my kids to the local college on the weekends when they were 13 and 14 and started them then. But go-karting is the way to go. Or the mall. That's how you see how crazy they're going to be.

00:08:01 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

The mall parking lot is always a good one, like on a Sunday morning before church. And then you can pray. Oh, no.

00:08:07 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

No, no. There's cars there. No, no. Exactly. Are you putting him on your lap in these situations, or are you just allowing him to drive?

00:08:14 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

No, actually, when my kids were all 13 years old in eighth grade, I let them have the wheel in the college parking lot.

00:08:21 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Let them have the wheel. What is that song? What's that country song? Jesus take the wheel. Jesus take the wheel.

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

There's a lot of praying going on.

00:08:32 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

No, there's a lot of swearing going on. Stop the car!

00:08:35 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 7:

You son of a bitch. Let's be real. Josiah would probably be a better driver at 12 than I am at 42. So you're safe.

00:08:42 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

For sure better to Bianca.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 7:

Honest to God.

00:08:44 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Actually, we should rank the show. Who are the worst drivers on the show? Shannon, myself, or Bianca? Which ones are the worst drivers on the show? Bianca's pretty damn bad, too. I mean, she pulled up, first off, she doesn't stop at any stop sign. They're all optional in Detroit, she says. Jesus help her. Yeah. What's that, Jen? Hi, Jen. How are you?

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

00:09:08 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm okay. How are you guys?

00:09:10 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Good. Jennifer's got an idea for you of where to take Josiah.

00:09:13 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So this started with my grandma taking me when I was about, like, 14, 15. and then I did the same thing with my daughter but I take her to the cemetery um because you can only go like 15 miles an hour and my grandma would say that you can't do any harm because

00:09:32 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 7:

they're dead anyway oh my god I feel like the cemeteries though those paths are kind of narrow windy yeah I don't know I like that idea good there's a lot of four-way stops where you have

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

to where you could teach the, I feel like it's better teaching because yeah, there is the winding road. So you can teach them how to drive slowly on the wind. You can talk to them while you're driving because.

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 4:

there's four-way stops i taught her okay when you're at a four-way stop make sure you know everybody's there and you know when it's your turn to go and by the way let me ask you on

00:10:10 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 3:

a four-way stop which direction goes first if you guys all get there at the same time

00:10:14 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

who do you who do you yield to everybody else go because my anxiety is too bad is it the left

00:10:21 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 3:

i thought it i don't i may be wrong i thought it was the right maybe i'm wrong with that i don't oh yeah chat gpt that one um this is funny tracy are you there yes tracy tell everybody about your

00:10:34 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

daughter my daughter on her 13th birthday one did not get a happy birthday from her father but she got a call from her grandmother about a mile and a half down the road to get the car that was in the driveway go pick her uh father up from the bar take him home and then go back and pick her grandma from the same bar and bring her back home wait where we where we live in what town are you guys from um i we're from port hero but this was out in evoca in between evoca and yale because i

00:11:05 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 3:

was going to say that is like the greatest thing ever it's like my and again she was 13 years old

00:11:10 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 4:

and it's like hey honey you're you're the 13 year old uber birthday yeah her dad said happy birthday when she brought him home and put him on the couch drunk.

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 3:

She's blowing candles. He needs a breath a lot.

00:11:27 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day.

00:11:31 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

What year did this stuff happen? Alright, we got tickets to see Juvenile and Birdman. It's the Cash Money Millionaires Tour. Little Caesars Arena, July the 31st, so a week from now. This was the year that Halle Berry won the Oscar for Best Actress.

00:11:49 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 2:

My lawyer's Neil Meyer. Thank you. Okay, wait a minute. I got to take the 74 years here. Okay, I got to take this time.

00:11:57 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

And after the tragic, actually not tragic, we kind of knew he was going to die, but sad death. What? Ozzy was not in good shape. Ozzy Osbourne died yesterday. Shannon's going to talk about that. This was the year that The Osbournes premiered on MTV.

00:12:10 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 1:

God, I hate Jack.

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 4:

What do you say?

00:12:13 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

What do you say about him?

00:12:14 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 1:

I hate Jack. It was a great show. Sharon!

00:12:19 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 3:

And the big song from Usher.

00:12:24 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

What year did these things happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us.

00:12:29 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 3:

844-665-6548. Autumn, what year was that?

00:12:34 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

2002.

00:12:35 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 3:

It was. Yeah, Autumn! Yeah, God, I can't believe it was that long. It's wild. Yesterday with Ozzy dying, I was looking at like clips from the Osbournes and then I went back and I looked at our show we used to do what did Ozzy say uh back in the day oh my god that's so funny and we would play the clips from the thing and people had to actually guess what he was saying and then the funniest was Eric who does you know our Donald Trump impersonations and he's had all the ones on there he does a great Ozzy Osbourne too and he told everybody that we had Ozzy on the show And listeners were in disbelief because he was so incoherent.

00:13:13 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 1:

I think people thought that it was like a really bad situation.

00:13:16 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 3:

We should do that today. Well, let's call Eric and have Eric. We'll bring Ozzy back from the dead. Yes. Congratulations. You got tickets to the Cash Money Millionaires show. You're going to go see Juvenile, Birdman, and a bunch more at Little Caesars Arena, July the 31st. Autumn.

00:13:32 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:13:33 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 3:

Have a great morning. man. Thank you. You too. Today is it for qualifying for summer of cars, cash and gas. I cannot believe that we've been qualifying you now for like, what, six weeks or something like that. Six, seven weeks. Win a $50 gas card to Kroger courtesy of Green Flame Tequila and qualify for that car cash. 844 844-665-6548. 95th caller.

00:14:08 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:14:11 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 3:

Shannon with What's Trending This Morning. Shannon in the Dirty on the 30. Dirty.

00:14:16 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 1:

I mean, how long ago did Ozzy Osbourne do that farewell show in reuniting with Lex? Two weeks ago, wasn't it? I think it was like just over two weeks ago. So it's pretty crazy that he passed away yesterday. And also, to me, very, I don't know if it's heartwarming or sad or coincidental that the very last song of that show was the song really that he wrote for his wife, Sharon, Mama, I'm Coming Home.

00:14:47 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

Wes was telling me that lesson

00:14:56 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

I didn't realize that Wes knew so much about Ozzy Asbourne But he was saying he was awesome

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

He was very close to his mom. So he's like, this could also be viewed as maybe he knew. I don't know that he wasn't doing well and he was going home to his mama.

00:15:09 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:15:10 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:

But 76 years old, family members said he died surrounded by love. He was, and correct me if I'm wrong, diagnosed with Parkinson's disease a couple of years ago. So he was battling that, but cemented the nickname as the Prince of Darkness.

00:15:24 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 3:

Was that wild that that was his name?

00:15:26 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 4:

Remember when he bit the head off of a bat? That's what I first learned about him. I think he thought it was a... Didn't he think it was a prop? A stuffed animal.

00:15:33 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 3:

He thought it was a stuffed animal. It was a real... Trippin'. But... Well, Sharon also... Give it up for Sharon, by the way, because Sharon gave Ozzy, I think, new life because she became his manager, taking care of him, and then she was the one that went to MTV and said, hey, this would be a great thing to put us on and do this reality show.

00:15:55 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 4:

Which was a spectacular show. It was. I watched it religiously.

00:15:58 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, me too.

00:15:59 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 4:

He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once with Black Sabbath in 2006. Again, as a solo artist just last year, he has survived by Sharon, their three kids, Kelly, Amy, and Jack, as well as his eldest son, Louis, from a previous marriage. Shout out Ozzy Osbourne. Attorney General Pam Bondi announcing yesterday that it is the intention of the Department of Justice to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell. Remember, she was Jeffrey Epstein's right-hand woman, currently serving a 20-year prison term for her role in sexually excluding and abusing multiple underage girls. Her attorney is confirming that news, so this is going to happen. I don't know when, but she is the only person to date who has been held accountable in this Epstein mess. So I wonder what sort of information she's going to reveal.

00:16:52 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 2:

Her name's Ghislaine. Yeah.

00:16:54 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, whatever they say she did, she did it. You think that this will happen, or will this be another one of those BS things?

00:17:02 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 4:

I think this will happen before we see anything from the actual Epstein files.

00:17:08 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Yesterday, Congress recessed early for summertime because the Speaker of the House said that he did not want to do this whole thing where every day they were trying to get the ESPN, the ESPN ESPN ESPN award files out.

00:17:25 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 2:

See, consistent pressure is the only way some things happen. It sucks that I'm kind of at a point right now where I'm just like, bro, I just don't care no more. Can I tell you something?

00:17:35 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 3:

Yesterday I saw the most interesting thing on TikTok and it was talking about how we are more focused on the Epstein files and a guy cheating on his wife at a Coldplay concert and yet there were people that literally drowned and died in Texas and they're like going through all these different things. And it was really interesting because I'm watching this thing going, the viral world of how things are nowadays.

00:18:02 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 4:

We are ADD when it comes to news stories. We move past. It's been that way forever though.

00:18:06 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:

It ain't just started. I think it's worse now than ever before. I think it's all about the cycles and honestly, it's all about what is in your algorithm. Your algorithm changes your mind on something. You stay focused on something for a little bit, and then you move on to the next one. And, you know, we got people that aren't being, you know, that are starving to death in, you know, Gaza right now.

00:18:30 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 2:

People are starving, bro. But I'm saying. I don't think it's, I think we've always moved at the speed of the world. It's just this world is faster than what it used to be.

00:18:39 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 3:

Listen, and, you know, the other interesting thing is that you look at a TikTok like that, it brings a little awareness to something. and then you look for more TikToks with a guy at the Coldplay concert wanting to know what's going to happen to him and when is his wife going to beat his ass.

00:18:55 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 4:

Interesting story about him in Next Hour's Dirty. And lastly, YouTuber Trisha Paytas is revealing the name of her third child. Now, keep in mind here. Who is this? She's like a YouTuber influencer.

00:19:07 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 3:

What does she do? What's her thing?

00:19:09 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 4:

I am not a fan, but her other kids are named Malibu Barbie and Elvis. So you knew this one was going to be interesting.

00:19:18 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 1:

So if you've known me for any amount of time, and it's also Moses because he had this in his water museum, you know? Yeah, okay, here we go. Okay, it is Aquaman.

00:19:31 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 4:

She was wearing an Aquaman t-shirt. Hey, man, more party. Aquaman, Malibu Barbie, and Elvis. That's what I said. Three under the age of three. You should have your children taken away from you.

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 3:

No, let them live their lives. Come on.

00:19:44 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 4:

00:20:07 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Paige. Hey, guys. Thank you so much. I'm so excited.

00:20:11 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 1:

What are you taking? Are you going to take the car or the cash?

00:20:14 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm taking the car. I have no AC in my car. Oh, my God.

00:20:18 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 1:

You need it. Man, we got to get that to you tomorrow because tomorrow it's going to be 95 degrees, so you're going to be sweating. Wouldn't that be great to drive home? I know. I can't wait. Leave with air conditioning. Come without air conditioning and leave with air conditioning.

00:20:32 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait.

00:20:34 - 00:20:43 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to you. Have a fantastic time tomorrow when you come up to Gordon Chevrolet. That's up in Garden City, Michigan, so it's going to be a little bit of a drive for some. But where are you from?

00:20:45 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Gross Point. Okay, that's not bad. We'll make it. It won't be a problem. We'll see you there. You'll be sweaty.

00:20:50 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 1:

$50 gas card will pay for your gas. Thank you to Green Flame Tequila. You hang on the phone for a sec, okay?

00:20:56 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 2:

Awesome. Thanks, guys. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:21:06 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. It's time now for the 5 at 6.55. We got five lies coming up here in just a little bit. It's going to be good, by the way. It's a really, really good five lies in just a couple minutes where a son's calling up his mom who absolutely loves her dog more than she loves her son and is going to say that the dog is on Facebook Marketplace. Somebody's trying to sell your dog. This is such a good one. Bianca actually went and posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace just so that the mom could have to see it. We'll have that in just a little bit. That is true dedication. That is true dedication. That's really good. Kevin, not you. Kevin. If I say our winning champion's name, do he get a yeah, too? Oh, he definitely does, especially if he continues to win and represent the Kevins everywhere. He's going for three in a row. Let's go. What's up, 5 at 655, Kevin?

00:22:05 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 2:

Nothing much. Good morning, all.

00:22:07 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Are you ready?

00:22:09 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm ready.

00:22:10 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 1:

00:22:27 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Good, how are you?

00:22:29 - 00:22:37 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Are you on a Bluetooth or something? Because I think that we're having an issue with you. But that's okay. Here, let me lock up Kevin and soundproof area, and I'll start with you, okay?

00:22:38 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:22:39 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 1:

All right. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one, Gabrielle. Fans are mourning the death of the godfather of metal, the prince of darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. What was Ozzy's or what is, I guess, because she's small. It would be right what it was. I guess he's dead. But what is Ozzy's famous wife's name?

00:23:32 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 2:

00:23:33 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Yesterday, Pam Bondi said the Department of Justice is looking to meet with the late Jeffrey Epstein's right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell in prison. Who is Pam Bondi? And last question is going to be an audio clue. On this day in 2011, the singer or this singer was found dead from alcohol poisoning. I will play you the clip. Who is she?

00:24:17 - 00:24:18 | Speaker 2:

Amy Winehouse.

00:24:19 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 1:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. Oh, my God. Day number two. Five out of five from our challenger. Oh, man. What's going on here? Are the questions too easy, or is everybody just good? I don't know. Kevin, you do not have it easy today. Are you ready?

00:24:36 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm ready. I guess two days in a row. I got to get five in a row. You can do it. Exactly.

00:24:41 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, two to two. Question number three. Actor Daniel Radcliffe is celebrating a birthday today. He is best known for playing Harry Potter. What was the shape of the scar on Harry's forehead?

00:25:27 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

A lightning bolt. Yes. Three to three.

00:25:30 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 1:

We've got two more questions. You've got to get these questions right to stay our champion. Question number four. Yesterday, Pam Bondi said that the Department of Justice is looking to meet with the late Jeffrey Epstein's right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, in prison. Who is Pam Bondi?

00:25:49 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

She's the attorney general. 44!

00:25:53 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 1:

And it comes down to this. Last question. If you should get this question wrong, we have a new champion, and that would be Gabrielle. Get it right. You're back with us tomorrow, and you're going for your fourth in a row. Question number five in the 5 at 655. Good luck. On this day in 2011, this singer was found dead from alcohol poisoning.

00:26:23 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 2:

I tried to make me go to rehab, I said no more.

00:26:29 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 1:

Who is she? Three seconds.

00:26:34 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 2:

Repeat the question.

00:26:36 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 1:

I just did the question. This singer died, and I played you the song. Who is she? Three seconds.

00:26:42 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 2:

Two. She sang Valerie. Yes, she does sing Valerie.

00:26:48 - 00:26:48 | Unknown:

Javis.

00:26:49 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 3:

Amy Winehouse. Amy Winehouse, we got a new champion. You knew who it was, too.

00:26:57 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 2:

I did. It was on the Cigar Cup.

00:27:00 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 1:

Repeat the question. What do you want to repeat it for so you can Google it? Strategy. I know.

00:27:05 - 00:27:09 | Speaker 2:

I had it in my head. I know. You can't use that to buy more time.

00:27:09 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 1:

Gavin, we got a new champion this morning. Gabrielle, you are back with us tomorrow. Congrats, Gabby. Congratulations to you.

00:27:18 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 3:

And you've got to come back and play with us again sometime, Cap. All right. Thanks a lot, guys. Thank you, buddy. Hang on the phone for just a second, and we'll get you set up with all the details. Gabrielle, see you tomorrow.

00:27:41 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 at 6.55. All right.

00:27:45 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings. If you'd like to be on Five Lives, tell your mom and get your mom on the radio. Text MOM to 95500.

00:27:53 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning. Five lies to tell your mama. George. Hey, what's up?

00:28:01 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 1:

How are you? It's Mojo in the morning. Five lies to tell your mom. This is George, everybody.

00:28:05 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 2:

Hi, George.

00:28:07 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi. George, this is going to be really interesting, and if it pulls off, we're going to have to thank Bianca for this because she put a lot of work into it. Yes, she did. We're going to call your mom up. Now, George's mom loves her dog, Piper, and Bianca, what did you put together so that we could pull this thing off?

00:28:27 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 3:

I made a fake post of someone selling Piper on Facebook Marketplace.

00:28:33 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. So you're going to call up your mom and say, Mom, your dog is for sale. Yeah, pretty much. Are you ready? I am. All right, here we go. These are the lies. Five lies to tell your mom. You're going to say, Mom, lie number one, I was on Facebook Marketplace earlier. Lie number two. Say, I saw Piper on it. Lie number three, someone is trying to sell her for $40. Lie number four.

00:29:01 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 2:

The listing says the homeowner doesn't take care of it.

00:29:06 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 1:

And lie number five, it even has your address as the pickup location. All right. We're going to call your mom up and we're going to sell her dog. Maybe this might actually be a thing. We should start just selling random dogs. There you go. Bianca, a little side hustle for you. What do you think?

00:29:24 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, let's do it. I'm down.

00:29:26 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. We're dialing up mom.

00:29:39 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hey, mom. Hey. Yeah. So, I was on Facebook Marketplace earlier, because, you know, usually I'm on Marketplace like all the time, and I saw Piper on there. You saw who? Piper, your dog. My dog? Yes.

00:30:06 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 5:

What do you... I don't understand. What do you... Why?

00:30:09 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I saw her on there, and... I mean, like I said, I was just scrolling through Facebook Marketplace, and I saw Piper on there, and someone's trying to sell it. I'm, like, shaking right now, because I don't know if it's you or if it's... Because I know you, I mean, everybody loves her.

00:30:30 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to sell my dog. She's my private possession.

00:30:34 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:30:34 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 4:

And I thought that was illegal. I thought you can't do that.

00:30:38 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

00:30:39 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 4:

I said, I thought you can't do that on Facebook.

00:30:42 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 5:

Sell animals.

00:30:44 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, apparently not. They're selling it for $40.

00:30:49 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 5:

Shut up.

00:30:51 - 00:30:52 | Speaker 2:

No, I swear. Do you want me to send it to you?

00:30:53 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, of course.

00:30:55 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hang on. Hang on.

00:30:58 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 3:

They don't have, like, my address, do they?

00:31:01 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 2:

Right there. It's even got your address on it.

00:31:06 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:31:06 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hang on. It's loading. Let me know when you get it.

00:31:14 - 00:31:16 | Speaker 3:

00:31:17 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 2:

It's a picture of Piper.

00:31:20 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I know, but I mean, like, one that I have taken before?

00:31:24 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't... I mean, it doesn't look like it, but it says on the post that the homeowner doesn't take care of it what that's insane

00:31:36 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 5:

Want to be on Five Lies? Tell your mom? Text MOM to 95500. And if you got an idea of what you could do for a Five Lies, also give Bianca and Lydia a little help with that, too. You can give an idea of something that maybe would set Mom off. So text MOM to 95500. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Oh, you know what? I got a late night tonight, which is going to be kind of a tough one because we got an early morning tomorrow. What are you doing tonight? I am

00:35:00 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 3:

playing tonight in a quarters tournament. And what's quarters for the uninitiated like myself? You don't know what quarters is? Like a drinking game quarters? Yeah, the drinking game quarters. Quarters is a drinking game that came out way before beer pong. Okay. It was where you take a quarter, you know, the silver, you know. I know what a quarter is. You know what that is? You know what a quarter is. You'd like me to show you one? Come on. Come on, Scrooge. And you have a glass there in front of you and you bounce the quarter off of the table and if you bounce it into the drink, then you can choose your person that you're playing against to drink that drink

00:35:41 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 2:

and they have to drink it. I was never good at this game.

00:35:43 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 3:

Were you not a quarters person? No. Were you good at any drinking games? Flippy Cup. Flippy Cup is yours. I like that. Really? What makes you better at Flippy Cup than at quarters?

00:35:53 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but I'm pretty decent at Flip Cup. Really? I call it

00:35:57 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 3:

Flippy Cup. I was about to ask you. was flip was was that something that you guys did more in college i'll be honest with you i

00:36:05 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 2:

i'm not a huge fan of drinking games especially card drinking games because if i'm getting together with all of my friends i just want to catch up and drink yeah i don't want to i don't

00:36:15 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 3:

want to have to play you want to be more casual with it you don't yeah when people are like let's play a drinking game i'm always like oh i'm gonna have to add quarters to the list so i love flip cup there's me too there there are but i'm and then i'd love to know from our listeners what's your favorite drinking game but also if there's anybody out there that is a quarters um i don't know semi-pro or pro is there a strategy you better call luke like i like i will tell you this like we have chel so so chelsea and i have some friends that i would turn to when it comes to expertise on things uh like for instance uh with in in the nature of golf i always end up going to gabara steve gabara is usually my guy for golf like he gives me like tips and pointers and stuff like that when it comes to pickleball bill brundage is the guy the guy is like a professional uh you know uh pickleball guy uh when it comes to playing with yourself kevin is my guy here you go here you go um zach is a close that one too so no but i'd love to know like what is like what is you know as far as, you know, drinking games, what is the strategy to quarters? I haven't played quarters, Shannon. I've not played since I was probably, I don't know, maybe a night disc jockey or I don't know.

00:37:34 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 2:

I was like, I'm sending you a phone number because I just remembered who in my life is a quarters, I can't say connoisseur, you can call this person if you want a quarter, a quarter's master my very best guy friend in the whole entire world super fat mikey okay mikey and he said if you need some tips oh he will give you some tips to play and beat and beat the um i think

00:38:01 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 3:

i might have your opponent we gotta practice in the studio today too oh i just i just mikey is Is Mikey a 404 number?

00:38:07 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 2:

I just sent you, or I just sent Mikey his own number. Oh, oh. He goes, that's my number, you idiot. Is that what he said?

00:38:16 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 3:

I tried to copy paste for you. Let me, I know Mikey. Anyway. Mikey starts with 404, right? He's a 404.

00:38:22 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 2:

No, he's a 260 area company.

00:38:25 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 3:

And that's Atlanta, right?

00:38:26 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know who you got.

00:38:27 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 3:

Then who's, then how come Mikey's number changed there for a second?

00:38:31 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, he probably did what I should have done a long time ago and changed his one number.

00:38:34 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 3:

Is that, okay. All right, hold on. I'm going to dial him up, and we're going to see what we got here.

00:38:41 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Wait, did I miss it? What's up for grabs here? What's the prize?

00:38:45 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 3:

We've got some money on the line. We've got some money and pride on the line. Yeah, it's kind of a fun little contest. The funny thing is my wife is playing, too, but we're on different teams. So they won't allow you to have your significant others on teams.

00:39:03 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 2:

It's not like you can cheat.

00:39:04 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 3:

it's kind of like a wife swapping type, uh, uh, team. Hi, Mikey. How are you, buddy? Good. How are you? Fantastic. Shannon, uh, gave, gave us your, uh, number as the expert when it comes to the game of quarters. Are you good at that game? Uh, yeah,

00:39:23 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 1:

I was good back in my day 20 years ago or so.

00:39:25 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 3:

It's an old school game that is coming back. The kids are starting to play it again, believe it or not.

00:39:29 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 1:

I think I didn't, I didn't need kids to drink anymore.

00:39:33 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 3:

I know. Now it's all about edibles and things like that, right?

00:39:37 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 1:

Vapors. Are they shooting quarters into a shot glass and whoever team wins, they shoot the quarter into the pitcher? And whoever loses has to drink the pitcher of beer because that's how I play.

00:39:51 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you play with pitchers. You have to be good if you're playing with pitchers. I would die.

00:39:56 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's quarters and then as a team, you've got to...

00:40:00 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 2:

it in the pitcher by the way and the team finished the losing team finishes the pitcher hi jane i'm

00:40:04 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

feeling so awkward here right now mikey who shannon referred to as super fat mikey which i don't i never liked that name i thought that that was uh that was very harsh that shannon would call you

00:40:15 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 2:

fat like that all the time but it was rude really it was she ain't calling fat super fat mikey you

00:40:21 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 1:

have a child now or is that some children is that some kid that you kidnapped who is that in the

00:40:26 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 2:

background no i have i have two daughters can you say hi hi one's five another one turns four in august kids did you know i had them 14 and 14 and a half months apart i would not recommend

00:40:40 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 1:

kids did you know that your dad is an expert when it comes to things did you know that guys hold on let me let me hold on once say it one more time hey hey hi hi guys how are you did

00:40:54 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 2:

you guys know that your dad is famous yeah no they don't they have no idea that I used to get

00:41:02 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 1:

arrested in the radio did your dad tell you stories all the time by the way this is surreal for me because I have known how old were you not Mikey when I first met you were you like 20 or

00:41:15 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 2:

something I was probably 26 or so yeah it was a different time that's for sure didn't you at one

00:41:22 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 1:

time sleep on shannon's couch like wasn't that like your you called that your home for a little

00:41:27 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 2:

bit mojo you you name it i probably did it at some point um let's not let's not get it twisted

00:41:34 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

shannon is no saint okay we are here you are here to talk about strategies for winning quarters

00:41:40 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 1:

yeah what's the strategy mikey that i need to know you gotta you gotta hold it in a certain

00:41:46 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 2:

direction almost flat per se and drop it off the counter and then you have to get enough height to

00:41:53 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

get it at the shot glass is is it heads up or tails up it doesn't matter i guess it's whatever you're whatever is lucky enough okay so there's no strategy as far as that's concerned and then is it on an angle do you hit it on an angle or hit it straight at it it's a little bit of you

00:42:10 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 2:

have to have a little bit of an angle okay and then you hit it flat as flat as you can you just got to get a little bounce on it okay but the real tough part is all right i'm gonna test this

00:42:21 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 1:

out today bye guys you dropped my girl this is unbelievable take some quarters mikey mikey kiss your kids before you go and i'll let you go i'll talk to you later that by the way that is surreal isn't it to know that he's a father uh what's up pam how you doing good morning good morning What's going on?

00:42:47 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 4:

First time caller. Yay! It took quarters to get you to call us. I got to tell you guys. Yes, because back in the 80s, we used to cruise around on the back roads. There'd be four or five of us girls. We'd take a piece of our dad's plywood, and we would sit out on the back road and play quarters.

00:43:11 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

00:43:11 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 4:

We would also do Slammer shots on that same plywood. Wow. Oh, were you lifted up and everybody drinks at the same time? Yeah.

00:43:25 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Wow. How old are you now, Pam, if you don't mind me asking? I am 55. 55 years old. She is a 55-year-old grown woman. Slammer. A mom, and she's talking about Slammers right now on the radio. Pam, this brings back memories.

00:43:41 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 4:

This was the best time of my life.

00:43:43 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Don't tell your kids that. Your kids are probably wondering, wait a second, Mom, I thought I was. What's up, Mary Beth? Hi, Mary Beth. Oh, the feds tap her. This does not sound like Mary Beth. You're not Mary Beth. Did you carjack Mary Beth? Hello? All right, see if Mary Beth is around. What's up, Jackie? Hi.

00:44:11 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning. First time on time.

00:44:16 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 1:

What's happening?

00:44:18 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so I just wanted to talk about a game I used to play. It was a card drinking game called Kings. And I don't know if anybody remembers Kings, but that was all the cards went in the middle of the table. And then as you turn them over, so Ace was Waterfall. whoever pulled that um would start drinking and then you would go around the table and whoever like you can't stop until the previous person stops so that's waterfall and then two through two through eight was you know you pass out drinks if you drew a black um five you passed out five drinks and then if you drew a red one you had to drink the five and then when you got up to like nine it was bust around

00:45:00 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 8:

rhyme if you can't rhyme then so you had to like pick a word like sam and rhyme with it and then whoever couldn't rhyme with it had to take a drink it was jackie this is where i'm like i just want

00:45:12 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 6:

to drink i just want to drink don't teach me a game jackie this is amazing isn't it how life has changed for you you're now you've gone from that to now you're probably in a book club aren't

00:45:22 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 8:

you no but i've been a nurse for uh 15 years so i've established my career i got three kids

00:45:29 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 6:

so yeah all right see it's and life changes doesn't it it's amazing how life will change for you uh jaylen what's up it's mojo in the morning hey guys good morning good morning what's going on so have you guys ever watched or heard of the show super natural yeah yes what does what does that have to do with uh quarters well this is a drinking game not quarters but you drink anytime same or dean says oh really okay so i know i've played that before i played that though with a lot of things like debates yeah you watch the debate and every time they you know uh state of the union yeah so yeah i like those kind of drinking games those games are easy i don't have to do anything other than just listen for what they're saying this one actually takes physical activity and i'll be honest with you i've already hurt my shoulder at drinking mary beth is back with us uh done with her carjacking what's going on mary beth well i'm on your team tonight are

00:46:25 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 8:

you really and i don't know how to put yeah i don't know how to play quarters either oh my god

00:46:30 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 6:

mary beth this is not good that you're that this is us playing uh with each other we're not we're not going to be great if we don't know how to play i'm telling you these games are beginners

00:46:39 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 7:

beginners luck which means that because you have mary beth on your team you're going to win What is the alcohol, by the way, that's going to be in the cups? Do you know? Do you get to choose?

00:46:47 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 6:

I'm hoping we get to choose, Mary Beth. What's your choice? You're a whiner, aren't you? And don't you like wine?

00:46:51 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I am.

00:46:52 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Or I'll drink a beer.

00:46:54 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 6:

Okay. All right. Well, I'm hoping it's bourbon. I'm like kind of going with that.

00:46:57 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 8:

You will die.

00:46:58 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm saying. We've got a patient. No, but the whole thing is if it's bourbon, if you've got bourbon there and the other person's not a bourbon drinker, then you get them drunk first. Yeah, but you're not going to win.

00:47:09 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 7:

Let's be real here.

00:47:10 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 6:

Mary Beth, we are going to take down my wife's team. I want you to know that, okay?

00:47:15 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 8:

Well, I'm trying to get Keith to get on her team. He's supposed to be playing on her team.

00:47:20 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 6:

Which one? Who's a better drinker, you or your husband, Keith? Keith would be better. Okay. All right. Well, tonight it's on. And if I'm not in tomorrow, you know the reason why. I've lost quarters.

00:47:33 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:49:56 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 6:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning.

00:49:59 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 2:

Morning, superstars of the music world are mourning the death of Ozzy Osbourne this morning.

00:50:06 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, Ozzy. Ozzy, why'd you die? What?

00:50:13 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of sad when you get, like, the text message alert that somebody passed away and you're like, yeah. Y'all say it, come in threes. We had Malcolm the other day, now we got Ozzy.

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 3:

What is happening?

00:50:26 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 2:

Watch out. Elton John calling the Black Sabbath frontman a dear friend, huge trailblazer, and one of the funniest people he's ever met. Rod Stewart writing on social media, bye-bye, Ozzy. Sleep well, my friend. I'll see you up there later rather than sooner. And Brian May, the guitarist of Queen, said Ozzy's final concert earlier this month, just two and a half weeks ago, was just a glorious way to say goodbye. Gene Simmons of the band Kiss.

00:50:52 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 1:

You saw him and your jaw dropped. This guy just walked out and there's a madness to follow him. The eulogy for Ozzy should be written by the fans. He invented himself.

00:51:02 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

76 years old, died surrounded by his family and friends.

00:51:07 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember this? You know what that is, right? Don't you?

00:51:11 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 4:

What is that? Theme song to the Osbournes. I'm with Sarah. Yeah.

00:51:16 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 3:

That was it. Boy, what a show. Zach was talking about how the Osbournes was his first reality show. So that and Newlyweds at the time. Remember MTV had some old bands at the time.

00:51:27 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 4:

Come on, MTV was going crazy. This is such an interesting theme song for the type of music he's known for. Yeah.

00:51:34 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 3:

It was great. What a great show that was. My favorite was when you'd see him drive in his car and you thought to yourself, is he going to hit other cars or people walking across the street?

00:51:44 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 4:

He loved burritos.

00:51:46 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 3:

He did. Yeah.

00:51:47 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 2:

So we briefly pondered this idea yesterday. This idea that now ex-astronomer CEO Andy Byron could sue Coldplay over the massive fallout from last week's Kiss Cam fiasco. Here's the thing. He'd have to get very creative and there's minimal chance that it would actually work. I chatted with an attorney friend of mine last night who said, yeah, technically he could sue for defamation because of what Chris Martin said when the cameras were on this cheating couple. When he said, oh, they might be having an affair. Defamation, according to the official legal definition, is a statement, either written or verbal, that injures a third party's reputation. I remember that from my media classes in college. However, they were having an affair. So it was truth, unless he could prove he wasn't having an affair with his head of HR. But, I mean, their arms were wrapped around each other. Neither of them have come out to deny it. Both of them were married.

00:52:45 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 3:

But as we learned from Laura the Roses, there's a lot of denying that happens.

00:52:48 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 2:

But also, since footage was taken in a public venue and shown on stadium screens, there's really no clear claim of defamation or privacy violation. So it'd be a stretch.

00:52:59 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 3:

And then somebody else said that public place, too, like you can actually post pictures of public places. The problem is when you start taking pictures from the family stuff that they have, like on social media, that's where potentially there could be some kind of legal actions that take place.

00:53:15 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 2:

See, now, we talked about that as well, and if you put something out on social media, as far as I am understanding, and please correct me if I'm wrong, if you're an attorney, it's like fair game because you put it out there.

00:53:32 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes and no, but if it's like photographers get rights to pictures, human beings get rights to their pictures too.

00:53:39 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like a very gray area, I think.

00:53:42 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 3:

We post some people's pictures from that we get and we get in trouble for posting them and sharing them. So I think what happens is there's ways that news, the news outlets could get themselves into trouble for some of the stories. I'm shocked that social media doesn't get in trouble or A.I. doesn't get in trouble for the A.I. stuff that I see. Like I saw an A.I. video of him and her like talking, going going crazy with each other at the concert. Yeah. Like where they're all over each other. And I'm like, man, that's where AI gets scary. Like if you're a spouse, like you already know that his wife and kids have just got to be suffering right now. And to see some of that AI stuff that's out.

00:54:23 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. We are losing one of our sports teams here in the Detroit area. Who? In a major shakeup of the UFL for the 2026 season, the Michigan Panthers are getting relocated. They're one of four teams slated for relocation. the UFL, relocating its teams from Michigan, Houston, Birmingham, and Memphis to new markets in Florida, I think likely Orlando, Boise, Columbus, and Louisville, Kentucky. And that decision, here's the weird part about this, speaking only about the Michigan Panthers. Across the board, attendance dropped in pre- Pretty much every city except for Detroit, we saw growth. Actually, this past season was 44% increased in attendance over the previous season. However, it was apparently crazy expensive to maintain the franchise at Ford Field. In fact, every time they opened the doors for a UFL game, it cost half a million dollars. That's a lot of money.

00:55:25 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 4:

They just made the championship last season.

00:55:26 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 2:

So that outweighed the benefits.

00:55:27 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Why don't they play the games at one of the college stadiums, like play at Spartan Stadium

00:55:32 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 2:

or play at Eastern Michigan or Lawrence Tech? Apparently the league didn't want the team to play on, is the turf gray there? Yeah. I thought I heard they didn't want the team to play on gray turf.

00:55:43 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 4:

Who cares?

00:55:43 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 2:

Is that right?

00:55:45 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 3:

Make the team's colors gray.

00:55:46 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 2:

Very interesting.

00:55:48 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 3:

What's up with the Tigers, by the way? If we can stay on sports for a second. The Tigers have now lost eight of their last nine games. This is not good. Zach has a theory.

00:55:56 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 4:

What's his theory? The new guy we hired who's going to do the morning show at Wills, ever since he's come to town, we've been losing.

00:56:04 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 3:

He hasn't even started on the air yet. How is it his fault? I mean, he's on our soil. I think he debuts on Monday, of all things. I'm not supposed to say that. No, but I don't think that they should blame it on him. Zach, that is horrible for you. I'm blaming the fact that we can't hit a ball. We've been going through what the Tigers have gone through in the past, which is a drought to scoring.

00:56:28 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, at least we got off to the start that we did, so we're not too far back. We're still up to the front of the pack.

00:56:33 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 3:

The problem, though, is that that first-place lead goes pretty fast. If you start losing games like this, we get double-digit losses.

00:56:41 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 4:

When is our next game?

00:56:43 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 3:

We play tonight. We play against the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. We don't want to get swept in that series. This would be two series in a row that we got swept.

00:56:51 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 4:

We're going to win tonight. If we don't, Mojo's shaving his eyebrows.

00:56:54 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Actually, not two series in a row. We beat Texas one game.

00:56:59 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a big congratulations to Venus Williams. She is engaged to actor-producer model, is it Andrea Preddy? Andrea Preddy? The tennis star confirming. No, it's a guy. Oh, okay. That she confirmed that Dirty at one of her matches recently, referring to this guy as her fiancé.

00:57:19 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 4:

And she won yesterday. I don't know what tournament they are. The City Open tournament, she won yesterday. I can't believe she's 45 years old. I thought I heard about 40, bro. I don't know how old she is. She's 45. She turned 45.

00:57:31 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 3:

I was blown away when I had heard that story that Shannon just reported on the news. And they said, 45 year old. I'm like, she's that. I didn't realize that, man.

00:57:40 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 4:

She's the oldest WTA, whatever that stands for, match winner since 2004. Great.

00:57:47 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 2:

Hitting them rackets. You can catch up on all of the dirty you missed today by checking out the podcast or to Mojo in the morning in the free hour radio app.

00:57:52 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 1:

Directly from the source is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Your call may be monitored or recorded.

00:58:01 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mike. Yeah. You're a winner. Yeah, Mike. Congrats. We got a $50 gas card, and you're now qualified for the contest tomorrow where we're giving away a brand-new car, a 2025 loaded Chevy Trax. What would you take, that or the $20,000?

00:58:23 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 1:

Well, I've been really trying to get a reliable vehicle for my daughter to take back to college. Yeah. And haven't found anything, couldn't afford anything.

00:58:31 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 3:

So that track would really come in handy. That'd be great. That would be a beautiful thing. Where does she go to school? Where does your daughter go?

00:58:37 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 1:

Grand Valley. All right. We've got to get her a car. See you in their second semester. Grand Valley.

00:58:41 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that'd be awesome. All right. Well, tomorrow, Gordon Chevrolet, we'll see you out there. Thank you so much. Hang on one second. Okay. I wanted to mention this to anybody that experiences this with any of our stations, but when the weather gets to be a point where it starts getting hot like this, we go from temperatures that were what would be considered normal temperatures to hot. There is a little interference on our big signal that we have, the 100,000 watt antennas. So if there ever is any signal issues, because some people were texting this morning, I think we got some texts from heartland and ann arbor that said that the signal sounds like it's fuzzy the iheart radio app is your go-to so go to the iheart radio app no matter where you are grand rapids detroit toledo or paraguay i don't care where you are you can listen to the show on the iheart radio app just pull up the station obviously in your select city or you can go to the go-to which is the flagship channel 955 and listen to our station. Can I give you a random

00:59:45 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Paraguay moment? No, because I want to move to the next topic. I find it! You don't want to bring up Paraguay? When am I going to be able to do this? Because I just, that was actually like a... This is taking longer than what my story would have been. Go ahead.

01:00:00 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 1:

It was like this huge soccer match that they had at Comerica Park a while ago, and I was introducing some of the players, and I'm like, so-and-so from Paraguay, and there was a dude that was like, it's Paraguay! It's Paraguay! Paraguay? I'm sorry. My signal. Oh, Paraguay? I'm in Heartland right now. Continue with the show. I'm in Heartland, and I cannot hear you.

01:00:18 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 2:

Continue with the show.

01:00:19 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 1:

Let me listen to the iHeartRadio app.

01:00:21 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for that enlightening story, Kev. Come on, quarters.

01:00:24 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's Mojo on the morning show. This is where it all starts and where it all begins. the honeymoon has worn off for Shannon and Wes and their relationship with each other.

01:00:34 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 2:

You're being funny.

01:00:36 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not being funny. I'm being serious.

01:00:38 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 2:

My feelings are so hurt. Did I miss something? Wes does not want to sleep with me anymore.

01:00:42 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 1:

Wow. What did you do? What happened?

01:00:45 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 2:

He said that he has been getting zero sleep lately and he's been going into work a zombie because of a few different things. He said that I toss and turn all night and throw the covers on and off and go back and forth between being boiling hot and freezing cold. Hello, cougar puberty, puberty, as I now call it, a.k.a. perimenopause. And then two, he said the dogs are really annoying in the morning when I'm getting ready and the clickety-clack of their nails and they want to come up in bed or my oldest dog, Charlie, just follows me around and whines if he can't see where I am. And he's like, it's just too much. I'm getting maybe three three and a half hours of sleep and I can't do it anymore and so he said to me can I do I I'm thinking about sleeping in one of the other bedrooms because usually there's a bedroom that's free just based on if our kids are with you know they're if my kids are with Andrew and if his kids are with his ex-wife there's always a free bedroom somewhere and I'm like you cannot do that we've only been married for a year well let me say this but he He's like, Shannon, I'm desperate for sleep, and it's just, I can't do it anymore.

01:02:01 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 1:

That's where it starts.

01:02:02 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

The lights in the morning, the blow dryer.

01:02:04 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 1:

It starts with that, and then next thing you know, you guys are in separate rooms, and then you guys, you know, aren't together anymore. Then comes his mistress.

01:02:17 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that's mean.

01:02:19 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 1:

Sophia.

01:02:19 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

I said to him, well, last night he was like, what if I lay in bed with you until you fall sleep and then just

01:02:27 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 1:

then he goes and he's sneaking out okay so what about could he could he do no could he no could he do it just Monday or Sunday through Thursday so it so because you know there are many couples that I'm sure are listening right now that are separate bedroom people that's like a big thing now where people don't do that I don't like that though I don't like it either I like sleeping

01:02:52 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 2:

right up next to him

01:02:53 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 1:

none of that stuff you mentioned sounds preventable

01:02:56 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 2:

though yeah it's hard to because our bathroom is in our bedroom and the door is like if I open the door and the lights on his face is right there that's how he sleeps yeah light sleeper huh um

01:03:09 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 1:

not really can I give you some advice on this and this is something that I think that uh would be helpful why don't you use a bathroom or a shower of one of the other bathrooms so there's only we

01:03:21 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

only have one other bathroom yeah and it's in between the girls rooms so that means then I would wake up either Lucy or Sam or both of them if they're both home but don't you think that

01:03:30 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 1:

they're and I have to walk under sleepers no because the way that it is I would have to open

01:03:35 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 2:

their doors and walk through their rooms to get into the bathroom so that doesn't work what about

01:03:39 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 1:

this one what about uh and here's an idea you said this morning when we were talking on our pre-show meeting about this and you were kind of telling all of us about your conversation last night you mentioned that you snooze in the morning this is what got me to stop snoozing one of the things so because it is tough for any significant others that we have as a morning show to have to deal with the hours that we wake up and I used to set three alarms and now I actually do the anticipation wake up where I wake up at 3 30 I'll wake up and I'll hear or I'll feel like 3 29 before 3 30 and as soon as i look at that clock i get up so i don't hit that alarm so today

01:04:20 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 2:

i didn't snooze because of this now i'm trying to do we had this conversation yesterday and so i was like okay i'm gonna be so mindful so this morning i woke up at my alarm and i got ready with all the lights off i put the dogs downstairs right away put the gate up so they couldn't come back upstairs it sucked it was so much work i couldn't see look at what i'm wearing like yeah you look okay no i'm just funny but i and i also got here 30 minutes early

01:04:48 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

did you notice that i got here you were here really early this is all to keep your husband in the bed with you which i think is important because i'm telling you when chelsea and i went to when she went to a separate room from me

01:05:00 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 2:

And I, you know, because I, by the way, I laid claim to the bedroom. And I, by the way, suggest that you always do because legally it's a better place for you to be than in a guest room. I will tell you that it's never we're going to do this for like a week. This is months or years. And you don't want that to ever happen. Chinita, what's going on?

01:05:19 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Shannon, look, this is how you fix that for real, for real. If you want Wes to stay in the bedroom with you, this is what you do. You lock the door out of the room at night. You go in the bathroom, you wash your hair, and you shut the door to the bathroom when you blow-dry your hair. I do. And then that fixes like, oh.

01:05:37 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 1:

I do, I do.

01:05:38 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 3:

And he still tears the blow-dry hair?

01:05:39 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, when I say it's right, it's like four feet away from his head. The bathroom door.

01:05:44 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what about Charlie? Because you said Charlie's your baby. What if you shut Charlie out the door? I mean, the dogs out the room, because I've got dogs, so I know how they can be in the morning.

01:05:54 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so that's what I did this morning. And kept them downstairs after I let them out right away.

01:05:58 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 2:

What about putting Charlie down? Have you thought about that?

01:06:02 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 3:

No, don't do it. Mojo, you're cruel. Okay, so what if you blow dry your hair?

01:06:06 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 2:

She tried to drown Charlie this weekend, Shanita, if you missed that story.

01:06:09 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 3:

I know, I heard that. I heard that. I heard that. She did not. The dog jumped in a wet face.

01:06:14 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:06:14 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 1:

So even last night, I took my shower at night. I blow dried my hair last night. But I still have to get ready in the morning. So I'm still going in there, turning the light on, brushing my teeth, doing all the things. I can't get around that. I don't know.

01:06:28 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but I know. I just feel bad. He doesn't really want to leave the room with you. It is what it is. I think you guys should come up with a soft compromise.

01:06:35 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 2:

I think this goes back to when Shannon was mad at Wes because he would sit next to her in bed as she's falling asleep and he'd be on his computer. And she told him she didn't want him to do that. And I think you've got to be able to compromise. He can have his computer there, and then you've got to deal with him early in the evening when you're going to bed, and he's got to then deal with you in the morning. Yeah. And this is compromise that couples go through. What's up, Liz?

01:07:02 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 7:

Shannon actually said what I was going to say was to blow dry your hair at night because I would be so mad if someone was mourning.

01:07:11 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 1:

And quite honestly, the blow dryer wasn't even part of his argument because the blow dryer doesn't even make any noise that I have. So it was everything else.

01:07:23 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 2:

What about this one? And is it Cecily here with us?

01:07:28 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Hi. How are you?

01:07:30 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Cecily actually brings up something interesting. Maybe Wes needs to wear some things to go to bed. Are you thinking air plugs or maybe wear like a mask or something?

01:07:42 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 5:

Not a mask, but yes, ear plugs. When my daughter was born, she was a newborn. She was really colicky, and so she was crying a lot at night. and my husband and I both put in those, like, cheap little soft earplugs. And it was enough to, like, mute but not totally drown out the sound so you could still be aware of, like, what was going on. But it was a really good balance.

01:08:06 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 6:

Man, he's supposed to be the protector of the house. A burglar come in. He's smiling to sleep with earplugs in. I have a dog. I was not worried. Shannon Dawes can't hear you.

01:08:19 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 2:

Somebody got to hear. Jessica, what's up?

01:08:23 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I've been also married for like a year, and my husband and I started sleeping in separate rooms, I want to say about three months ago, just because of my snoring, or I toss and turn just as bad as what Shannon says. Like, I'm constantly moving around, and I also wake up like two hours before he does so I can get ready and go to work.

01:08:46 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 2:

Jessica, this is the far worse part of marriage. You're supposed to deal with that.

01:08:49 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 4:

he shouldn't be running out of the room well i suggested it because i was like because i also don't i wake up and with his snoring and i will hit him and yell at him and then he'll say well i don't do that to you so why are you saying that to me and we've actually it's kind of prevented us from like getting his stupid arguments because we've been kind of happier from actually being able to sleep and then he can actually go to work and not be tired explain the you can hear it in

01:09:19 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 2:

voice. What does that mean? I sound like she got sleep apnea. Jessica, you sound like you're sleep apnea, Kevin says. Have you ever checked into that? You want to really ruin your life? Have to wear a CPAP machine at night. You'll never get laid after that. No, I think it's a little tickle in my throat

01:09:38 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 4:

right now, but I'm a little cold. But no, like on the weekends, we do sleep together just because Because we don't have anything going on in the weekend. Do you make up for lost time?

01:09:50 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 2:

Is it a fun night? Like, you guys romping all night in that bed? Ramping.

01:09:54 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Not, like, all night. But, yeah, I got to sometimes. Yeah, I like that.

01:09:59 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Maybe that is good.

01:10:00 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 5:

Amanda, hi. It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Amanda?

01:10:05 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Shannon, you need to use, like, a red light bulb or a red lamp or, like, a red plug-in light because red light does not disrupt sleep.

01:10:14 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 5:

What does that do? The red light in the room?

01:10:18 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 1:

In the bathroom, yeah. Put a red light in the bathroom, and it won't disrupt his sleep. It won't wake him up, and you'll still be able to see fine.

01:10:25 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 5:

The neighbors are going to see the red light shine up there, and they're going to think she's got a grow house going. Either that or devil worshiping. Tiffany brings up a great point, and Chelsea and I have this. Tiffany, what do you think?

01:10:41 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

I think she should get an eight-sleep mattress. She said she got to work 30 minutes early so she can do all her hair and makeup at work.

01:10:50 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 5:

Get a snooze. Is it snooze?

01:10:53 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 3:

Snooze. I honestly got talked to them about this already. So I think we're going to do a mattress, a different mattress where the temperature can be controlled on each side.

01:11:03 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 5:

So Chelsea and I have separate the mattresses and we have the adjusting and stuff like that. But so when I roll over, which I one time bounced her out of bed, literally like rolled over and bounced her out of bed.

01:11:16 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Like one of those trampolines on the lake. Exactly.

01:11:19 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 5:

And so we ended up getting the separate mattresses. It is a game changer because he will not be able to feel you getting in and out of the bed, which is amazing. It's just a little tough to have sex in the middle, Tiffany.

01:11:31 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not a separate mattress. It's a mattress cover.

01:11:34 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, it's a mattress cover.

01:11:34 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 2:

So you just put it over your mattress.

01:11:36 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 5:

I would get separate mattresses for the temperature, too, though. I think the temperature thing.

01:11:40 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 2:

No, you don't need to with the eight sleep. You can control each side of the bed.

01:11:44 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 5:

We're plugging snooze mattresses. They spend a lot of money on this advertising here.

01:11:48 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 3:

They probably have that mattress cover. They do that everything. They have everything, yeah.

01:11:52 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. All right. Well, I wish you well in this one here.

01:11:58 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, sir.

01:11:59 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 5:

Don't leave the bedroom, though. I'm telling you.

01:12:02 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I wouldn't.

01:12:03 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea's still bitter towards me when she moved out of the room. She went down to the basement, and she moved out of the room, and then she's like, why did I have to go out of the room? I'm like, I wasn't going anywhere. But don't move out of the room. I don't suggest it. Now I'm going to go home, and my stuff's going to be downstairs in the basement.

01:12:22 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 7:

The guy you were dating was fun until the hookup. Now he's ghosting you. What happened? Find out during second date update at 820. On Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:32 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 5:

Colleen and Tony, I caught myself there. I just want you to know that I didn't say the actual word that I was going to say, but yeah.

01:12:39 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 6:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:47 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

01:13:09 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:13:14 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Let's go.

01:13:15 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 5:

Coming up here in moments on the Mojo in the Morning show, some of the topics that we'll get into. kev with now is not the time uh also i will talk about this uh the invite yourself over person who is the invite yourself over person i would like to call out a member of the show that has invited themselves over to my house and then we'll do second date update and five lies to tell your mom plus pay your bills and a chance for you to win in our summer of cars cash and guests it's today as the last day that you can get qualified to win a brand-new 2025 loaded Chevrolet Trax for $20,000. I think that you'll take that over the cash, especially because it's worth more than $20,000.

01:14:14 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 4:

I like how you say that, man. You do a good job informing people.

01:14:17 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. And I, by the way, apologize to you for not letting you talk about Paraguay at the time.

01:14:23 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 4:

Paraguay. You tried to stop it, but it kept going. How do you say it? He's like, Paraguay!

01:14:30 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Listeners are texting and asking me if I'm PMSing today. This has been the longest week of my life. He hasn't got good sleep. I have had the worst sleep. Wes has been keeping me up all week. Tossing and turning. So he's getting up, blow-drying his hair, frosting his tips. Exactly. Now, I just can't. You know what it is? It's the shoulder thing. The shoulder surgery, which I had on May the 6th, which is wild to think how long ago that was, still is.

01:15:00 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 2:

hard to sleep and i finally had a conversation with uh amy and michelle over at the team rehab that i go to for the pt and they were saying that it's about the eight week mark where the sleep starts getting better so i'm hoping man it's got to come soon because it is wild how my how tough it is to sleep after this uh this freaking shoulder surgery you used to like lay on that side and now you got that was my side that was my side and it's can i tell you something funny chels and i were having this conversation when i'm on a couch i lay on my left side like i'm always on the couch like that i never lay this way because it feels awkward to me i guess the position of the couch so when i hurt my shoulder it kind of was something that was good for me because she said i was becoming off balance on that side like literally if you looked that was my side i was always on so my hunch was always kind of going in this way and so now i'm kind of like trying to get a little straighter even and out yeah i'm trying to trying to get things i know

01:15:54 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 1:

But once you're so used to sleeping, I sleep on my left side, too. That's it. It's tough. Yeah.

01:15:59 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 2:

The hardest thing is trying to stay asleep because in the middle of the night, you're rolling back and forth. And all of a sudden, you roll over and you can still feel that pain sometimes, that sharpness and that pain. So, all right. It is mojo in the morning. Now is not the time. So, Kev, you've been dealing with some family stuff.

01:16:22 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead. Go ahead.

01:16:23 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 2:

I think this topic, though, adds a little levity to a very serious time. My bad.

01:16:29 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 3:

I had a sip of that good water we got in here. But, yeah, so we talked a few weeks back about this stuff that I'm going through, a little mental health situation dealing with my family. So yesterday, go over to my mom's house. We have, like, a little family intervention, kind of a family meeting, and we have the behavioral slash psychiatric unit there. So these people come to your home. They have a conversation. with you and your family and the person that's dealing with these mental challenges and it's a very serious time very serious situation but there's some some progress that's happening and it gets to the moment I don't know if y'all have people in y'all family cousins or always somebody trying to promote their business and it just feel like bro now's not the right time I have a family member who loves to do music and again this is a very serious situation we're dealing with somebody that has mental struggles these people are professionals therapists they come out they're here to talk to the family or give you steps bridges you know whatever bridges have been broken build those back together this person like hey um i do music y'all want to hear some of my music they start to they tell me the air i'm gonna airdrop you the song i'm sitting there like i cannot believe this is happening right now they airdrop me the song they turn on the tv we are literally sitting there listening to this music and the person they're like yeah it's just the rough version though so it's not the final mix coming i'm like bro this is not the

01:17:56 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

time what was the reaction of everybody that was there at that time what was the reaction i think

01:18:01 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 3:

everybody you know how you like look yeah you don't like want to make it a whole thing at that point we're gonna tell them no right i'm not gonna play a song so everybody's kind of doing like i'm telling you everything that i'm thinking without saying a word yeah everybody's doing like this eye contact thing the music was fired up but it's like it's not the time it is you know

01:18:19 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 2:

what's funny is that i've had situations where i've been out with the family like we're at dinner and we're hanging out and we have like a moment that happens where the family fights and you're like everybody like it's chelsea me and the boys or one of the boys and we're getting there and it's all crazy and then all of a sudden the person will go hey i love listening to the show and they walk over to the table and i'm like i and you know me like i i this is my one of my biggest fault my biggest fault is i always prioritize the listener over my family sometimes oh you want to take a picture and i'm like oh god we're in the middle of like this whole thing where we're arguing and stuff and it's like this is not the time yes man i would love to know the this is not the time situation for you like what was it that was going on you know what where it happens a lot too is probably school drop off you know what i mean or something like that or you're like when you're doing just your normal daily routine and you get into something and you're like this is

01:19:12 - 01:19:57 | Speaker 1:

not the time for you to be coming over and doing talking about i love love truly when listeners of the show come up and introduce yourself um please never hesitate to do so if you see me out but and i've told this story before i don't know if it was lucy or smith we were in trader joe's and they were having like the tantrum of all tantrums to the point where they had those little red mini shopping carts and i think it was smith and his was like full of stuff he flipped the cart like That's how big of a tantrum he was having. And I was just sweating because I didn't want him making a scene. And a lady came over and was like, oh, my gosh, I've listened to this show since it first started. And I was like, please just stop away from me. Like, it was just not the time. I'm trying to deal with this child that is melting.

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

But the greatest is when you.

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 3:

in your teeth gritting going, I'm going to kill you, you little son. Oh, when I talk to my kids

01:20:06 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 1:

and my lips don't move, it's bad.

01:20:08 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

It's bad. It's like you're a ventriloquist, you know what I mean?

01:20:11 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 4:

I swear to God.

01:20:14 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 3:

Who is the better one in your house at doing that? Your mom or your dad at doing that? My mom, for sure. My dad don't care. Really? He didn't say it out loud. See, my dad was the best at that thing. My dad was the best at doing it, but he said it with an accent it was the only because he had a cuban accent it would be like i'm going to kill you you little oh man team grid is a rite of passage my favorite thing with my dad having a spanish accent was when he would say when he would tell us that we had to get ready for school he'd go come your hair and we would all laugh we all go what should we do to our hair come your hair and of course my dad had no idea that that was you know the word that he was using so we would all just sit there and giggle all the time and laugh 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is our telephone number now is not the time I would like to hear you there's one particular texter that is going off on me right now this is 734 let's call him 734-866 seven uh should i know that i shouldn't do the whole number no they they are going off on me and they are saying the topic should be why mojo is such an ass to kevin call that person i would like to talk to them and i would and i would like them to uh you know what we'll play we'll play mojo court we'll have a round of mojo court we'll hear their side of the story they'll hear my side of the story and kevin can tell his side of the story and we can get into uh to that because I'm going to tell you something. You don't understand. No, it's not the time. It's not the time. In the middle of this whole thing. To tell a story about Paraguay. About Paraguay. He was low-key pissed about that. No, I was like trying to get to the next topic.

01:22:06 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 4:

I know, but the show can't always flow like that sometimes. We just got to have natural conversation.

01:22:11 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 3:

Are you not on an Adderall or anything like that today? Do I need to get you on one of those?

01:22:15 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 4:

I don't take drugs. Well, maybe try.

01:22:18 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 3:

Maybe we need to try.

01:22:19 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

I'd probably take a, what is it, Claritin?

01:22:22 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 1:

I need some of that right now if you have some.

01:22:24 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 3:

By the way, do you remember when you were a kid and your mom would just tell you to take something? And now as an adult, do you realize that she was just trying to put you to sleep? Like her goal was to try to get you, like my mom for some reason would go, here, honey, take this. This is good. Here you go. I'm like going, I think my mom was drugging this.

01:22:41 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 4:

She's like, I'm not even coughing. It's amazing.

01:22:44 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 3:

But then next thing I know, I'd wake up, it was the next day. And I would be like.

01:22:47 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 1:

A little melatonin gum. You never heard anybody.

01:22:50 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it was melatonin, Shannon. I think it was something bigger. I think there was something crazy going on there.

01:22:55 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Until my child goes, oh, I feel funny. I felt horrible.

01:23:01 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 3:

I remember when we went on, we would go back to go visit Chelsea's parents in Arizona. And I would say to Chelsea, and I remember saying it really, really loud one time in the airport. Did you drug the kids?

01:23:14 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 4:

She's like, what are you doing? That's insane.

01:23:17 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 3:

I was like, yeah, you know, I don't want, hey, listen, if I'm the guy sitting in the row, either in front or behind, I want those kids drugged.

01:23:23 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 4:

I hear that.

01:23:24 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What do we got, Lydia, on the phone lines? Nothing?

01:23:27 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 1:

No, they're chickening out.

01:23:28 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 3:

Really? What's going on here today? What's happening? Is it the Mercury retrograde or something like that? Why is this person chickening out? They obviously speak a big game on the text. I want to hear from them. I want to know. Is it a regular texter?

01:23:46 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 1:

No, no. No history?

01:23:47 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 3:

That's the world we live in. Really? No, they got some history. It's contest history. Oh, okay. It's just contest history. It's not a lot of comments on here. Hold on a second. That's Kevin's number.

01:24:01 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 1:

If you haven't heard us talk about this before, though, we can see everything that you've ever texted, called. Shh. Creates like a little file for you.

01:24:11 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. What's going on, Jill? Hi. Hi, Jill. Jill Carol

01:24:20 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 1:

What did she say her name is?

01:24:23 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 3:

Your name is Carol

01:24:24 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 4:

I got Adderall for everybody if you guys want them

01:24:27 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 3:

You can just stay up all night and do it You probably got them in a little sandwich bag Carol, we need some Adderall right now We're on one of those days, I think It's summertime

01:24:40 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate it

01:24:43 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 3:

Carol, let me ask you this You got kids?

01:24:47 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 1:

Adult children, yes.

01:24:48 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so when your kids were little and they were just a pains in the asses, did you ever have those moments where they were pains in the asses at the worst time, like going to church or at the grocery store at Kroger?

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I forgot.

01:25:02 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 2:

I got to dump it. Yeah, you can't swear, Carol. Carol, you're a nice lady.

01:25:06 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry.

01:25:07 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Give me some of what you got there. Thank you. I appreciate it.

01:25:11 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 1:

You're welcome, honey. Have a good day.

01:25:13 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 2:

All right, take care. Honey. By the way, the funniest, you know, the funniest is whenever you get a swear from a mom-ish sounding voice, Carol sounded like mom-ish, and she swears like that, it makes her sound like more real doesn't it we need to have the ability to be able to let mom swear that should be a new uh bit that we do on the show and the radio gotta let us at least say a mom mom swear

01:25:40 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 1:

what's going on john how you doing hey so i was just at hershey park over the weekend and uh i ended up meeting joe gatto from practical jokers there oh boy how's he doing yeah he was really nice uh i tried to you know give him a handshake he hit me with the fist bump and then uh i was talking to him and i was like can i take a picture really quick and he's like no like i'm i'm here with my family like now's not the time and all that and uh so then i was just like oh i appreciate you you know like me and my dad have been watching your show for so long and then he was like all right like we can take a picture so i ended up getting a picture with him you know what's funny

01:26:18 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

about that is that uh i didn't realize that he's hanging out here in town that joey gatto was was because he had that whole issue that came up where he was caught texting, I guess, some fans, some female fans, and inviting them to his place. I respect the guy because I'm not the guy that usually in Chelsea could be the one that would be more open and honest with you guys at saying how annoying it is for the family. I'm not the one that would say, no, now is not the time for a picture. I probably would have do the picture. But the guys just got done with this horrible thing with his wife and all that. I give him a little bit of props on saying that to you, John.

01:26:58 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what my girlfriend was saying because other people would come up and ask him for a picture, and he'd be like, no, no, and things like that. And she was probably like, it's because all this, like, scandal thing kind of just came out.

01:27:08 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Do they look happy? Does everything look happy with him? I hope everything's okay.

01:27:12 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. He looked like a normal guy just walking, and we were playing whack-a-mole because my girlfriend wanted a stuffed bear. And I look over, and he's just playing whack-a-mole next to me. I was like, oh, it's Joe Gatto.

01:27:23 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. I didn't know he has family or something inherent in town. That's wild. All right, I'm going to move off topics because this topic's not getting any love at all. And no, I'm not going to do Yacht Rock. Somebody just said today I should do Yacht Rock.

01:27:37 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't have time for Yacht Rock right now. Can I say the voice?

01:27:41 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

01:27:41 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Do it in the voice, though.

01:27:42 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 2:

I'll just do it. I'll move the topic. Yacht Rock. All right, I want to talk about Bianca for a second. And the reason I want to talk about Bianca, who's our director of social impact, is Bianca did something the other day that I want to know if you have any friends that do this to you or family members. Specifically, it's probably family members. But the other day, she blatantly invited herself over to my house. Like, it wasn't even subtle. It was like, boom, hey. So it was one of those things. We're all sitting there having a post-show meeting. We're all kind of hanging around the dinner table, our control board area here, if you've ever seen the videos when we do like War of the Roses and stuff. And Bianca's in mic position one or two over here, which is to my left. And all of a sudden, out of the blue, she goes, yo, bro, or how does she talk? How does she talk? That's like a male version of her. How does she say it? Can I come on your boat? Yeah. She did. And Bianca goes, yo, why don't we all have like a boat day on Cass Lake? And I looked at her like, what is that all about? And she's like, we're going to come on your boat on Cass Lake. First off, I'm not on Cass Lake. But secondly, she basically invited her over to my boat. And it got me thinking, how many people have people that just invite themselves over? I bet you for boat people, that's a big deal. I bet you boat people have that all the time, where people just invite them over.

01:29:11 - 01:29:21 | Speaker 3:

Or pool people. Yeah. I try to do this with my cousin. He's like the grill master of the family. I'm like, bro, let's barbecue this weekend. You should throw a party.

01:29:22 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

We should throw a party this weekend. So is it when you say we should barbecue this weekend, you're not saying that you're going to barbecue. You're saying they're going to barbecue.

01:29:30 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 3:

He has the house. He got the backyard. He got the grill. Let's throw a party this weekend.

01:29:35 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 2:

All right. Here's what I want to know. I want to know who the person is in your life and what it is that they invite themselves over for. Is it always the person with the boat or the pool or what else would it be? The tickets to the game, you know, whatever it might be. They got the best TV.

01:29:52 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 3:

They got the best TV to watch it. There are. We having a party party.

01:29:57 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844 665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to know who that person is. Bianca, where are you at? I need some explanation from Bianca on this one here.

01:30:09 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm here.

01:30:10 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Bianca.

01:30:11 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 1:

So the reasoning is Mojo has the boat. He's got the house.

01:30:16 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:30:16 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 1:

He's got the vibes there.

01:30:18 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 2:

That was it.

01:30:19 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we all know the party's going to be popping at Mojo's. And I just want to be on the boat for real.

01:30:23 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 2:

That's all you want. All right.

01:30:24 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we just got to be on the boat.

01:30:26 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So that was it. That was kind of like your thing. Do you do this with other things, too? Like, if I called some of your family and friends, would they tell me that this is a very Bianca thing to do?

01:30:35 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 1:

My friends actually kind of get mad at me because I'm like, let's have a party at your house. And they're like, if you want people over, how about you invite the people over at your house? And I'm like, I don't want to do it with the cleaning.

01:30:44 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Is your house a party house, or do your parents ever allow people to just come randomly over to your house? I would think they seem very warm and inviting. They would be okay with that.

01:30:54 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would say so.

01:30:55 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hey, Mojo in the morning, hello.

01:30:57 - 01:30:58 | Unknown:

Hello.

01:30:58 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo.

01:30:59 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 2:

How are you doing? Would you like to come over to hang on my boat? I don't know. It sounds creepy. What's going on? Who's the person that... First time long time. Hey there. What's your name?

01:31:12 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 4:

Hugh Jules.

01:31:13 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Hugh Jules.

01:31:14 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 4:

Hugh Jules on the phone.

01:31:16 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 2:

Hey, who's the invite themselves over person?

01:31:21 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she's my sister. Well, she's my sister now. But she used to be an employee of mine years ago, but now she's like family. But she just invited herself over. She was my little sister's friend, and then she started coming over when my sister wasn't there. I'm like, well, she's not here. She's like, it's okay. I'm still going to come over. Now she's right there from everywhere.

01:31:40 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 2:

Would she just sit there if your sister wasn't there and hang out with you, and you would have to keep her company?

01:31:46 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 6:

I wouldn't have to do anything. She just wanted to be there, and I used to cook all the time, so she definitely would always be up because she likes to eat.

01:31:56 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 2:

That's like a perfect beer. Hey, call us more often. We love you. Thanks for calling.

01:32:00 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 6:

I love you guys, too.

01:32:02 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 2:

We'll talk to you. What's up, George? How you doing?

01:32:05 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 5:

I'm the person that everybody always is assuming, hey, I'm coming over to your house to go jet skiing this weekend and barbecuing. I'm like, oh, the jet skis.

01:32:12 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Man. So what happens? Do you just, like, randomly have people just showing up at your front door, or are they to go right out to the jet skis and start using them?

01:32:21 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 5:

Go straight to the jet skis.

01:32:23 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what's funny about those people, George? They never bring gas to fill them up, do they?

01:32:30 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 5:

They don't, but for $50 for a whole weekend, you can't beat that. You know what I mean?

01:32:33 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 2:

I know.

01:32:34 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 5:

It can make everybody happy, so I enjoy making people happy.

01:32:37 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what? You're a good guy. Where do you live? Can I send Bianca over to your place?

01:32:40 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm going to hop on a jet ski. I just told her a couple weeks ago she can hit me up at Cat's Lake. Remember, you got to shoot us on the boat.

01:32:48 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. That's where he's going. He's got him out there.

01:32:52 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay. No, it's good.

01:32:54 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it's either a bird call or a Chaldean call. That's what it is. What's up, Brandy? How you doing?

01:33:02 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 7:

Hey. So the person that does it the most is my brother. Really? He'll either be at my door, like coming in, like I got to do laundry, or he's on his way to let me know. I'm like 10 minutes away. I'm going to come do laundry, and I want to watch this movie.

01:33:17 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

I like that he's coming over not for the pool, not for a boat. He's coming over for the washer machine and dryer.

01:33:23 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 5:

That's legitimate reason. Yeah. That's necessary.

01:33:26 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 2:

Is he wanting just to use them, or does he want you to do them and take care of everything?

01:33:30 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 5:

No, he just wants to use them.

01:33:32 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 2:

See, okay. Now I'm okay with that. I'm fine, as long as he's bringing his own laundry detergent and softener. Yeah, he does all of that. All right. That's cool. All right. Roger, what's up, Roger?

01:33:44 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. I'm listening to you on iArt Radio. Yeah, Roger!

01:33:50 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you. Roger, who's the person that invites themselves over?

01:33:54 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, my neighbor only has visitors come over in the summertime because he has a big old in-ground pool.

01:34:01 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 2:

And these people never are there in the winter?

01:34:04 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 4:

Never there. Nobody shows up in the winter.

01:34:07 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it funny that that's the only time that his friends and family see value in him is when his pool is open?

01:34:15 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 4:

He knows about it, too. He tells me about it. We talk about it. He knows that that's all they come over for.

01:34:20 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 2:

Bunch of users. My favorite is when people will say, I want to come over, and I say, the boat's out of the water, and they get all disappointed. Never mind, I'm actually busy. Is it Artinas? Yeah. What's up, Artinas?

01:34:37 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

So my family always invites themselves over to play, like, my retro games because I got, like, the PS2, the Wii, all the classic games, so they always want to, like, host game nights at my house. like oh we're bringing the food and stuff like as long as they bring something yeah it's okay yeah we and it's all a vibe so i'll let them over anytime

01:35:00 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 2:

See, that is the thing. Like, I know people that come over, and when they come over to the house, they always bring you something. Shannon's one of those. Shannon's very generous with the things that they come over with. Then there are those that don't bring anything at all. Like, they bring nothing. They bring themselves. And you're like, Mom always taught me you have to bring something.

01:35:18 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 3:

I'll bring you a plate of Doma if I come over. Ooh. There you go. That's a fair trade.

01:35:22 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea will be texting me in a second saying you're invited if she loves it. What's up, Haley? What's going on?

01:35:28 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 1:

Hey. So I am the one that would always show up unannounced and uninvited to my sister's house. Okay. You know, back when I was younger, I'm partying a little bit. I would just, you know, not want to drive all the way home. So I would just go to her house because it was closer and use a card, like my ID, to get in the door. Use a break-in? Well, you call it breaking in. I call it just getting in.

01:35:56 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 2:

That's like TV show. That stuff happens on detective stuff, you know?

01:36:03 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm really good at it. But anyway, so she just started leaving the door unlocked for me.

01:36:07 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 2:

That's great. I love that you know how to pick a lock. Haley, that's amazing. Jordan, what's going on?

01:36:14 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 5:

So this is back when I was living at home. My dad got me a job with one of his friends. I came home from work. I've been working for this guy for over a year. I came home from work and I go, that's kind of weird. Why is this car at my house? So it's like I'm walking around and it's the middle of summertime and I walk and he's in my pool. Wait, your boss? Nobody's home. The guy that you worked for? My boss, my dad invited him over didn't tell me and my parents are home. He's there by himself.

01:36:52 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God, that's weird.

01:36:55 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm just like Well, I was planning on going to the city, but I'm definitely not now. He said, come on in.

01:37:02 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you a funny story? My friend has a pool, and he will go out of town a lot. They go and, you know, visit family and stuff. He says at least two to three times a summer, random friends will be in their backyard having a pool party thinking that they're out of town. So he'll be looking out his window going, the whole family's out there. They do. They bring their own towels, which I guess is a prerequisite. But they just go over and hang out at his pool all day. He'll be like, what's going on? And I said, do you go outside and actually say something to him? He goes, no, I pretend like I'm not home because then I don't want to feed him. Is that amazing? That's smart. All right, Bianca, we got to have something soon. Okay. All right. Meg Mom's going. I want to come too.

01:37:42 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm inviting myself. Come with me.

01:37:45 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 3:

Pull up tomorrow.

01:37:46 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. Time now for second date update.

01:37:49 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 5:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:37:52 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, second date update on the Mojo in the Morning show. why you're not getting a call back we're gonna find out Dante is getting ghosted what's up Dante how you doing I'm doing well man how are you good so you guys met at work you guys work together that is correct yeah yeah yeah which is awkward then all of a sudden when you don't talk to them about going out on another date or don't get them to go on another date yeah it's been it's been uh

01:38:23 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 4:

it's been pretty awkward you know um and i haven't been quite sure how to approach it you know um

01:38:29 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

yeah i have to tell you that that's why you don't date in the office you just have sex with them in the office like this is one of those things like i don't think dating is a good idea um hey uh lydia who do i got on the phone here with me right now this is a raja a raja Wait, Dante, are you at work right now, or are you getting to work right now?

01:38:53 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm getting to work right now. Okay.

01:38:55 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 2:

Araja, are you at work, or are you also on your way to work? No, I'm on my way to work. You're on your way. Araja, will you say hi to Dante?

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up?

01:39:09 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you?

01:39:12 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you? I'm okay.

01:39:14 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Raja, is this going to be a little awkward for you to do knowing that probably in just a matter of an hour or so you guys are going to be seeing each other face-to-face?

01:39:25 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 3:

I mean, work is work. I don't need to see him pass whatever I need to ask him for. Like, you know, work is work.

01:39:34 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? So are you not interested? And that's why you haven't given Dante another date? What's up?

01:39:41 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 3:

no i'm not interested in all and since he wants to put all of our business out there i'm gonna just you know tell it to you straight up he split into my co-workers dms the day after we hooked up oh wow wait a second anything else needs to be said is that true don wait a minute how did you even how did you even find out about that wait a minute yeah what you doing bro how did you even find out about that

01:40:12 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 6:

like i don't think you understand that girls talk okay like i don't even think like you think you're slick and everything but you you talk to my friend my co our co-worker but my friend

01:40:25 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 3:

it's my closest friend at the job okay so i mean but the thing is is that you and i are not dating

01:40:34 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 6:

we're not even serious we went out one day serious what are you talking about you literally

01:40:39 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 3:

hooked up with me after dinner but it was a hookup that's what it was that's that's messed up so who knows who else you're talking to at the job but we're but we're not seriously invested

01:40:54 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 6:

though we hadn't gone out we're serious enough that we haven't been dating for months and months

01:40:59 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 7:

and months that's not been the case but wait a second you were invested enough that you wanted

01:41:03 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 3:

to know why you weren't hearing from her right because i mean listen we were it was a i felt like it was a really nice night that we had together okay and but we weren't we weren't serious enough for for her to like not talk to me just because i slid in her friend's dm

01:41:28 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 6:

but why would you do that why would you do that right after talking to me like i don't date people like that like she can honestly have you like i'm not i'm not trying to be with a player you know

01:41:38 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 5:

what i mean never let me let me just real quick before it gets to go too far because you guys do work together with each other i want to just ask dante a couple of questions dante you don't think that when you take a girl out on a date and you guys have you know a good enough date where you guys end up hooking up with each other you don't think that you probably shouldn't be just then trying to hook up with another person in the office you don't think that that's your call to basically say all right I'm gonna see how this relationship works was it just purely sex that

01:42:09 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 3:

you were looking for it wasn't purely sex I was looking for I mean I really do like her um however i didn't think it was serious enough because it was only one day and so i

01:42:23 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 5:

so you're not logically for me yeah you're not committed you're saying to her

01:42:28 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 7:

that's right that's right after one day i understand that but i would still feel exactly the same way that she does i'd be yeah i feel used a little bit i'd feel used i would feel hurt I would think that you're not looking for anything more than a hookup. So the fact to me that you called because you wanted to know why you weren't hearing back, it's like an oxymoron to me.

01:42:57 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 4:

I don't think anybody did anything wrong, but it is crazy to reach out to. And plus, you got to know they're friends, and they probably are going to talk because that's what friends do. to hit her up the next day is where you kind of missed it. Allie, what's up?

01:43:12 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know. Allie.

01:43:15 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 1:

I just want to say this woman is so funny and I love her boundaries. This man's a clown, but I just, I, funniest second update ever.

01:43:27 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 5:

So Araja gets a little love from Allie on this one. Araja, say hi to Allie. Hi

01:43:33 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 6:

Allie. I'm glad you agree with me. Oh my gosh, 100%.

01:43:37 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 5:

thanks Allie appreciate you what's up Eric hi hi how are you today good what are your thoughts

01:43:44 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

um the whatever his name is he's kind of a dummy yeah Dante yeah yeah Dante is a dummy uh because like it's like when you have a pre when you have a pre-established relationship such as like a work relationship and then you go to take the next step to go into like dating and everything like that at that point in time like have you I don't know if he's never heard of the term like don't dip your pen in company ink but it's like that's a very messy business you can't just sit there and go ahead and like screw around with all the girls in the office when you start to make that step you have to assume that there's you're already a little bit further in the relationship you can't start making things messy it's just being dumb

01:44:23 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 5:

it definitely gets even messier that they work together Vicky comment here 844 Mojo Live 844-665 6548 what are your thoughts about what Dante did to Araja

01:44:34 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 6:

I just said He's a player. Bye.

01:44:38 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 5:

That's all. That's all you got to say. Do you think that Dante's look now in the office is going to be bad amongst the women knowing this? Yeah. I hope so. Dante, do you worry about that?

01:44:54 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you know, I think that I'm able to, like, move in a space where...

01:45:00 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 4:

I can I understand that work is work and that what I do outside of work, you know, I can I I can handle both essentially.

01:45:09 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 6:

But but when you're mixing work and what you do outside of work, you have to understand there are going to be consequences, right?

01:45:19 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

Sure. But at this rate, which is where we are. sure but at this rate again like i said it was one day he couldn't it wasn't it wasn't as serious

01:45:33 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 1:

to me you know but i i think raja you had to be just shocked when oh i'd be reeling when your co-worker says dante now is hitting me up she was like what is that how did it come out like how did

01:45:49 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 2:

that happen of course like we we are best like that's my best friend in the workplace and it's Like, I feel like there's levels to it. You know what I mean? Like, he took me out, and then we hooked up. He could have talked to anybody else, but he decides to talk to not only someone in the same workspace, not even someone a couple weeks later, the night after we hook up, with who else but my best friend at work? Like, he just doesn't care. And honestly, if I can tell y'all, I'm tired of men telling you straight up to your face that, oh, like, they want something with you, or they make it seem and appear deeper than it actually is. And then in front of everybody else and their homeboys and their friends, they try to make it seem like, oh, no, it's not that deep. It was just a couple of dates. No, he tried to make it seem like we were actually working towards something.

01:46:33 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Jasmine, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Second date update.

01:46:36 - 01:46:36 | Unknown:

Trauma.

01:46:37 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo. Long time listener. First time. Hey, Jasmine.

01:46:41 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 5:

Yay.

01:46:44 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 3:

I was just saying it's really gross that he's trying to ride his way through the whole company. Yeah. It sounds like he just wants to sleep with anyone in the company. Maybe that's a thing. Is that what he's into? It feels like it is. It might not be his thing, but sometimes you work with many beautiful people. We had a guy who worked here that was that.

01:47:04 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 6:

Remember?

01:47:05 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:47:05 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 3:

He may work long hours. I know people who like to just stick it in the company ink. I don't know.

01:47:11 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 1:

I know. But this is a good one. Ours was a bad one. The people in our office didn't talk to each other. I think, like a Raja, that a Raja is willing to say something about it. Because in our company, it didn't come out until well after the fact, which was awkward. But, all right, second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:47:27 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:48:17 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 1:

Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30.

01:48:20 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 6:

Obviously, the big news this morning, the death of Ozzy Osbourne died about two weeks after he reunited with Black Sabbath for that farewell show. The very last song that he played, the song that he wrote for his wife, Sharon. Mama, I'm coming home. He died surrounded by family members. I'm making the assumption that he died from complications from Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with back in 2019. But the Prince of Darkness, you knew him from Black Sabbath. You knew him from his solo career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on two different occasions. Many people actually only know him, I think, from the MTV reality show, The Osborns. Like, that's how I came to know who Ozzy Osborn was.

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 5:

I mean, if you ain't got a fan, you ain't got a gig.

01:49:20 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I just loved his fans. He is survived by his wife, Sharon. There are three kids, Kelly, Amy, and Jack, as well as his eldest son, Louis, from a previous marriage.

01:49:27 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 5:

What have you done without your wife, Ozzy? What? Yeah, without your wife. I go look for a little woman. I said the greatest.

01:49:39 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

They had a very funny relationship. But remember, they almost got divorced. Several times. And it was recent. It was actually, I think it was 2020-ish, like right around that time, that they were going through a really, really tough time. And they almost got divorced. And then he kind of said, he said, listen, you're always going to be my wife, even if we are.

01:50:00 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 3:

our divorce, so why are we getting into a divorce? And then the rumor was they did a suicide pact with each other. Yes, I heard that yesterday. What was that? So the rumor for a lot of times, and she kind of dispelled a little bit of it, was that she did not want to live without him, that she felt like that if he should die, that she wanted to die with him and they were going to go together, which she then has changed. And boy, she looks so different now, doesn't she? Do you see how much weight she has lost? And the whole family. And Kelly, too.

01:50:29 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 4:

So Kelly Osbourne looks like a totally different person. And Kelly Osbourne just got proposed to, I think, at that farewell show.

01:50:36 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 2:

I love that. The fact that he got a chance to see his daughter get proposed to,

01:50:40 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 4:

had his farewell tour, he's happy. Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone wants to stay in Detroit long term, but it's uncertain to him if the Lions feel the same way. He is an impending free agent. And he said yesterday he's kind of bummed at the lack of progress regarding a contract extension. I want to retire London. I want that opportunity. That's how I feel.

01:51:03 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 2:

Do you see yourself returning to the practice field without a new contract?

01:51:07 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm just taking this day to day right now. I hope. I mean, we'll see. I have no clue. So he has not been present at the first couple of days of training camp or he is there?

01:51:19 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 3:

I think he's been at training camp. I don't know how much he's practicing, but I also think that a lot of those vets don't necessarily get out there on the field that much. We saw what the Lions looked like without Alex Anzalone on the field. They've got a lot of concerns on that defense. I mean, that defensive line needs some help. And if you have an Alex Anzalone sitting out, which I just don't see him as that kind of a guy. Right, I agree. And I know he's got one more year left on this deal, and a lot of times you want to wrap that up. But the Lions also have to make some financial decisions here because you can't just keep throwing money out there and think that a guy like Alex Anzalone, who's considerably older for some of the linebackers that are out there right now. I don't know. It's going to be interesting. Lions got a tough schedule. Everybody, we're all excited about them going to a Super Bowl. They got one of the toughest schedules I think I've ever seen the Lions have. Have no fear. I know. Well, let's get these guys on the field.

01:52:13 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 4:

Pat's got his Lions hat on today. See me? Nearly three years after those four University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death. Brian Koberger going to face their loved ones and life in prison at his sentencing hearing that is happening this morning. Koberger going to be handed four consecutive life sentences for the murders of Madison Mogan, Kaylee Gonclaves, Zana Kurnodal, and Ethan Chapin, plus 10 years for burglary and some other offenses. But investigators say Koberger, who was a criminal justice student at the time of the murders, had long planned this attack. but we still don't really know why he did it, what the motive was.

01:52:52 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 2:

Brian Koberger is expected to be sentenced to four consecutive life sentences today after admitting to killing four University of Idaho students at this off-campus house in 2022. As he awaits his fate, new video shows his family after visiting him in jail. And overnight, a line was already forming outside the Ada County Courthouse. Koberger, a former Ph.D. criminology student, pleaded guilty to the murders earlier this month, taking the death penalty off the table. Are you pleading guilty because you are guilty? Yes. While some families say the deal brought them closure, others opposed it, including the family of Kaylee Gonzalez, who accused prosecutors of making a deal with the devil. Koberger's motive remains a mystery, President Trump even weighing in, saying, before sentencing, I hope the judge makes Koberger, at a minimum, explain why he did these horrible murders. The victim's families will get the chance to address Koberger in court today.

01:53:43 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 4:

I've gone all this time not knowing the details, and we really want those details.

01:53:48 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 2:

Kohlberger will get the chance to speak today, but it's not required.

01:53:51 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 1:

The judge can compel Kohlberger to admit his guilt. He also can ask him additional questions if the judge feels as though it's warranted. Now, we know that the family is looking for a lot of answers, such as motive and other things. Those are not typically things that they will find out at this type of hearing.

01:54:08 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 3:

I was talking to Lydia. You just got done, Lydia, watching that documentary?

01:54:14 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I've been listening to the Crime Junkie podcast on it.

01:54:18 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 3:

So, this Kohlberger guy just looks like he's... Bro, he looked crazy as him. Cold-hearted, doesn't he? I mean, it's crazy. There are women hitting this guy up right now. It's so weird. Wanting to be his...

01:54:27 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

It's like a fascination. Girlfriend or whatever. Yeah, it's so weird. By the way, so the victim statements are going to happen today. They say that so many people want to speak. It could take up all of today and even go into tomorrow at this point. And real quick, Gwyneth Paltrow's husband, not super happy with her at the moment. You know, she's really, really close with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. And he just broke up with his longtime fiance, Dakota Johnson. So I guess Gwen said, hey, come live.

01:55:00 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 1:

with us in L.A. for the summer. Well, they have kids together, Apple and Moses. It'll be great for the kids. We're going to support you through this breakup. And her husband is like, ugh. Nah, bruh. I don't know. I don't know if I like this situation.

01:55:15 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 2:

He got money. He can stay somewhere else. You know about the likeest man in our house?

01:55:19 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 1:

It's Motu in the mornings, dirty on the 30. Andre. Is it Andre or Andrea? I don't know. Andrea? Andrea. Andrea, you're a winner. Yeah. Congrats to you. Thank you so much. Summer of cars, cash, and gas. If you win tomorrow at Gordon Chevrolet, are you picking the car or the cash?

01:56:04 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm picking the cash.

01:56:05 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 3:

Give her the money. She wants some money, money, money.

01:56:08 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 1:

Yes, please.

01:56:09 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 3:

All right. What are you going to do with the money? What do you get going on? $20,000.

01:56:13 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. I'm paying off credit card debt. Amen. Yes.

01:56:17 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

Man, oh, man.

01:56:17 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 2:

How much credit card debt you got racked up? What you been buying?

01:56:22 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was a realtor for a little bit, So I put a current amount, about $15,000. So, yeah, I'd like to get rid of that. Okay. All right. Selling homes was tough?

01:56:34 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know, it just wasn't for me.

01:56:36 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:56:37 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 1:

I did all right, but it wasn't for me.

01:56:38 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, we got to get you some money tomorrow. Hopefully you'll win this thing. We'll see you tomorrow at Gordon Chevrolet.

01:56:45 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. Sand in the crack. Sunburn-feated flip-flops and bees.

01:56:51 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Ah, summer's finer things. This is Mojo of the Morning. Mojo of the Morning. Shannon left during the last break and came back and was very awkward. What's going on? I don't even know if we want to know.

01:57:15 - 01:57:28 | Speaker 1:

I am sweating my buns off, and I felt like I was going to smell, so I took off my underwear in the bathroom and threw it in the garbage.

01:57:29 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you threw your underwear out?

01:57:31 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 1:

I was sweaty. I sit, do you guys see how I sit? I sit with my legs crossed. First off, for the first part of the show, I was freezing cold. Then it was 9,000 degrees in here. I don't buy this.

01:57:41 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 2:

So you're saying it was going to smell like Christmas? I just, I don't know how to say this. Isn't Christmas a great smell? No, I'm talking about her down there.

01:57:51 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 1:

My underwear was a little soggy, so I just took it off and got rid of it.

01:57:54 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

But why would you throw away sweaty underwear? You don't throw away sweaty underwear. I'm starting to think that Shannon has something. Like what?

01:58:02 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 1:

Doody! I did not. Trust me. You know. I've done that. I would make that a topic in two seconds. A little spray fart? I have not pooped yet today. It was sweaty. Make a doody. I get all my underwear on Amazon, so I don't care.

01:58:14 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 2:

party more than the sound how much how much does amazon underwear cost i mean would you like me to

01:58:19 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 1:

tell you i don't know because five pack for fifteen dollars really no i i buy i i do not

01:58:26 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 3:

uh skimp on my uh underwear i never sweated out no draws now i have only had to throw away underwear once in my entire life that's a whole that's a level i've i've had to throw out underwear one time and it was at the Heartland Baseball Diamonds when I couldn't make it to the bathroom fast enough. Poo poo cucka face. And I had, yes, and I had an accident in the pants and basically which I felt like was weird that I was throwing them away because I thought to myself, I'm like, when the person finds these things, what if they DNA test only to find that they're my own.

01:59:06 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 1:

I have such a complex about smelling bad You guys, I'm always apologizing for, oh my gosh, I feel like I smell so sweaty, but I knew it was going to be not good.

01:59:16 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 3:

Are there others that do this? Do any other women throw away their underwears like this? Or guys that your underwear gets sweaty?

01:59:24 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 2:

Brown care, how many holes I got in my drawers? Pooped my pants.

01:59:27 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 1:

I did not poop my pants. I really didn't.

01:59:29 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 2:

Are you sure?

01:59:30 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 1:

No, I swear to you. Pooped my pants. I have not pooped today. Yet. Smell my butt. Smell my butt.

01:59:35 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 3:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i bet you guys that work outside have to do this from time to

01:59:43 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 2:

time i i don't think we throw away stuff though you would keep your underwear i don't have underwear with holes all around it's like that's my underwear though are there people that bring

01:59:54 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

a change of underwear with them like i see i do that i do you do oh yeah i have some in my work back.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 4:

For what reason? Just in case I start my period.

02:00:03 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Next topic. Can I tell you something? I went to, so I have to go to my physical therapy, and I went to my physical therapy, and I was changing from these clothes that I wear, like the shorts and like a polo shirt, to I was changing to a pair of shorts and polo shirts. No. I was changing to like I had some Nike shorts And a Michigan State t-shirt So I had this stuff And I was changing and I'm like going I don't want to keep my underwear on But then I realized they manipulate me on the bed I have to keep my underwear on Because the worst thing in the world is There's people, there's patients right there next to you

02:00:48 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 3:

Listen to Sean Watson Justin Tucker, you trying to go to physical therapy With no drawers on? What are you trying to do?

02:00:54 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 2:

No, I was going to wear my shirt. No, you're nasty. Like when you play basketball or you work out, do you wear underwear on your knees here? Yes, what are you talking about? You don't wear underwear when you go play basketball. Sometimes I don't.

02:01:06 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 1:

Don't your workout shorts have, like Wes's workout shorts have underwear built in. Shan, I hate that. I hate the. Well, some of them do. Now I'm thinking about it. Some of them do. He likes Viore now, and I don't think those do.

02:01:17 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 2:

You know what I've been into now lately? I used to do the Viore's and stuff, and I like their joggers. I don't like their shorts that much. Roan.

02:01:26 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

02:01:27 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 2:

R-H-O-N-E. Bro. But I bought the wrong ones, and I bought the ones like Westlikes, which has the...

02:01:34 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 1:

There's no liner or whatever. It's like the swimsuit liner thing. Yes, yes.

02:01:37 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I like the liner so much, because I feel like the liner sometimes, to be honest with you, feels like I'm wearing jockey underwear.

02:01:43 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 3:

So you playing basketball with no drawers on?

02:01:46 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

I try not to, because I like...

02:01:48 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

Post me up.

02:01:49 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 2:

I like to free ball in it when I'm balling it. Are you serious? Yes. What's up? How you doing, Marie?

02:01:54 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 4:

That's not right. Hey, good morning. I was just calling to say, Shannon, I understand what you're saying. You know, people always complain about Swamba, whatever. You know, sometimes you just got to air it out. I don't know what to say. Summer, it's hot. Everything's touching. Yes. Sometimes bed work.

02:02:11 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 1:

I have a doctor's appointment right after the show.

02:02:13 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 2:

So are you afraid with a doctor's appointment?

02:02:16 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 1:

I know this lady is going to be right next to me, and I just don't want to smell.

02:02:20 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 2:

So do you have a...

02:02:21 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 1:

I actually have a different shirt in the car, too. I'm weird like that. I do not want to smell bad.

02:02:27 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 2:

Marie, do you throw your underwear away, or do you put them in your purse and go home and clean them?

02:02:33 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 4:

I guess it really just depends. I'm not above putting them in my purse, especially if they're a nicer pair. But that's why I only use cotton. But most of the time, if I'm at home, I'm honestly not wearing underwear. I'm just waning the poo.

02:02:46 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 2:

I can't do underwear that's cotton. I like this, I like these Tommy John, like silky, not silky.

02:02:55 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 1:

Those are the best.

02:02:56 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 2:

But they're like, I forget what it is. It's some kind of a thing where it feels like, it feels more comfortable. I don't, cotton to me feels like dampy and dry. What's up, Richard?

02:03:06 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo? Good, buddy. This is going to be good, I can already tell.

02:03:10 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 2:

This guy wants to call up and talk about Shannon's underwear. Hi, Richard, what's going on?

02:03:14 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just had to do this last Thursday at work. I, you know, thought it was just a nice little fart that turned out to be a nice wet mess.

02:03:28 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Dang, Richard.

02:03:30 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 5:

I would have voiced a surprise myself. I luckily was the only one at work. What do you do for a living, Richard? I worked for a supply company. Okay. You know, delivering electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, all that fun stuff.

02:03:46 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 2:

So where did you stop to take off the underwear, the duty underwear?

02:03:51 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, I had to waddle about 150 yards to the restroom. Brute pants. Brute pants.

02:03:58 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 3:

To my pants.

02:03:59 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 5:

Thankfully. And got to the restroom, was able to clean myself off. It took about 15 minutes. Threw my underwear in the trash, took the trash out to the big trash. And then I went to Mando, ran to Walmart, picked myself up some new underwear.

02:04:18 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you actually bought some that day. Okay. All right.

02:04:21 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, I thought I had my spare ones, but they weren't where I normally keep my spare ones. Where do you keep your spare ones?

02:04:28 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 2:

In that little console on your door of your car?

02:04:31 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 5:

um actually no i keep them uh in a golf bag okay in my car i have that too i have a golf bag yeah with some stuff in it yeah yeah and uh and unfortunately that wasn't in there so yeah i had to uh take a medical emergency run to walmart can i tell you something funny i've never had to

02:04:51 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

go like to target or walmart to go get underwear but i have asked a friend of mine who lives not that far and on my way home. Hey, can I leave underwear and

02:05:00 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 5:

clothes at your house because there's times where you want a change of clothes if you have any kind of issues. I thought that that would be something kind of weird, though, to have access to his house just to go. What's up, Holly? Hi.

02:05:14 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Hi. Hi, guys. I just wanted to ask for everyone, are you all wearing underwear when you're sleeping? I can't. I don't.

02:05:26 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 1:

I just had this conversation with Lucy

02:05:28 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 3:

and smith too like you gotta air it out yeah give it some space yes i agree yeah you can't wear

02:05:36 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 5:

underwear 24 and 7 in my book kevin do you switch your do you put clean underwear on to go to bed or do you keep the same underwear from the day oh that's dirty you guys that dirty you got wearing it all day yeah what that mean that's you you're you gotta you gotta change your underwear from the day like you have your morning underwear that you put on for the show still wearing it at night going to bed? Y'all going crazy.

02:05:58 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 6:

I think it's crazy to not wear underwear.

02:06:02 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 5:

I think that, but I put on a pair of shorts. I don't sleep like naked. I think you going to

02:06:06 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 6:

physical therapy with no draws on is more of a crime than me going to bed with the same draws on I had all day.

02:06:12 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 5:

Your draws that you wear in the morning to work, you're still wearing going to bed at

02:06:18 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 6:

night. I mean, I'm not running around.

02:06:20 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 5:

That is dirty. That is seriously. I can't believe that you have ever had a woman sleep with you after that. I have, and they've done more than sleep. Moj, can we make a quick buck? You think we could put these on eBay or something?

02:06:32 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 1:

I buried them at the very bottom and I put a ton of paper towel on top.

02:06:36 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 5:

I can go searching. That would be real weird. What would you do if Zach's in the women's restroom?

02:06:44 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 7:

Fishing around her room.

02:06:46 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Shannon? Hi. Listener Shannon.

02:06:49 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Hi. It must be a Shannon thing because I do it all the time, but it's not some sweat. It's because I have pissy pants if i cough if i sneeze i can't freaking hold it anymore it's it's the you have children huh you have children oh yeah i have two daughters in their 20s and i thank them

02:07:09 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 1:

02:07:24 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 6:

02:07:33 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 5:

therapist lee what's what's sicker lee what's sicker me not wanting to wear underwear when I play basketball or have to go work out or Kevin wearing the same underwear for 17 hours a day

02:07:46 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 6:

or 24 hours a day. Probably you in the gym with no underwear. No, no, no. Bro, listen, y'all playing basketball and this man is guarding you with no draws on. Think about that for a second. Y'all hanging everywhere. Think about that for a second. Don't let him make his layup. That's real

02:08:02 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

defense. Can I ask you a question? And this is a serious question. Does it hurt if you're doing physical activity and you don't have underwear on? Not me. Isn't that uncomfortable?

02:08:13 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 5:

You're just chilling in your sack, you know? My privates are well-sustained inside of me. And by the way, I just want you to know now that I know that Kevin has an issue with this, every time that we end up doing any kind of basketball games or something, I'm going to say I'm not wearing underwear.

02:08:31 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm guarding Kevin. He's going to be on my team. WKQI Detroit. WSNX. muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo three great stations one stupid show this is mojo in the

Oh, my God. How did that happen? Holy crap.

02:09:04 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 5:

Maybe we need to bring that back. No. No.

02:09:07 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 1:

It was my least favorite thing we did.

02:09:09 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 5:

Maybe a special edition. No, five lies tell your mom. Here we go. Five lies.

02:09:13 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:16 - 02:09:17 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:09:18 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Five lies to tell your mom. George. Hey, what's up?

02:09:21 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 5:

How are you? It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mom. This is George, everybody.

02:09:25 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 1:

Hi, George.

02:09:27 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 5:

Hi. George, this is going to be really interesting. and if it pulls off, we're going to have to thank Bianca for this because she put a lot of work into it. Yeah, she did. We're going to call your mom up. Now, George's mom loves her dog, Piper, and Bianca, what did you put together so that we could pull this thing off?

02:09:47 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 3:

I made a fake post of someone selling Piper on Facebook Marketplace.

02:09:53 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. So you're going to call up your mom and say, Mom, your dog is for sale.

02:10:00 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, pretty much. Are you ready? I am. All right, here we go. These are the lies. Five lies to tell your mom. You're going to say, Mom, lie number one, I was on Facebook Marketplace earlier. Lie number two. Say, I saw Piper on it. Lie number three. Someone is trying to sell her for $40. Lie number four.

02:10:22 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 2:

The listing says the homeowner doesn't take care of it.

02:10:26 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 1:

And line number five, it even has your address as the pickup location. All right. We're going to call your mom up, and we're going to sell her dog. Maybe this might actually be a thing. We should start just selling random dogs. There you go. Bianca, a little side hustle for you. What do you think?

02:10:44 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, let's do it. I'm down.

02:10:46 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. We're dialing up mom.

02:10:55 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

02:12:46 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 4:

it doesn't look like it, but it says on the post that the homeowner doesn't take care of it.

02:12:52 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 3:

What? That's insane. She's like my baby. Right. Can you get it? Why is this? No, it's still loading. it's just

02:13:06 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 4:

02:15:07 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 5:

I love how you say your dog is your prized possession, not your child. Well, I mean, she is in second place. Now George is in second place.

02:15:23 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 4:

That was great. And great job on the picture, too, Bianca and George, kind of working this thing out to get mom. That's awesome. Mom, we got a prize for you. Congratulations.

02:15:35 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank you. Do I get to bring my dog?

PL is official. Mojo in the morning.

02:18:12 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Mojo in the morning show. by this time tomorrow we will already have a winner of our cars cash and gas thank you to gordon chevrolet thank you to mike porter thank you to uh all the people over there thank you to mr you know mr gordon gordon like first off let me say this about gordon chevrolet they've been around for a long time great people great family uh years and years ago i came in to know them because Jim Harper worked two doors down from us in our Channel 955 studios in Detroit. Jim was the number one morning show in Detroit on WNIC. Guy had a monster of ratings. He had 31 share ratings. I mean, it was crazy. And Jim was, like, amazing with client endorsements and things like that. He had a lot of clients that loved him, and he was like, honestly, I say this all the time, If anybody taught me anything about how to deal with clients, Jim Harper was the guy. And Jim introduced me back in the day to Sue Ianni, and we became lifelong friends. And now I think Sue probably has two brothers in the fact that Jim and I are both really close to her. But Gordon Chevrolet gets it. They know what they're doing. They've been such a good partner here with iHeart. And tomorrow we're going to broadcast live from their dealership, and I'm really excited that Mike Porter is running the show over there. is doing such a great job so tomorrow morning we'll be broadcasting live there please to our listeners that bring children check your children's diapers um and don't let it have such a a poopy for a long time that the poop gets on the floor last year we had an incident where a mom uh a mom's child had a little bit too much in their diaper and the the poop got all

02:20:00 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 2:

over their dealership floor. That's how exciting a live broadcast is. You just can't hold it in. What we should do is we should do a scene of the crime chalk outline of where it was. That was so funny. The best was Angel because Angel lost her smell during COVID, so she can't smell anything. And she was like thinking, oh, there's somebody that just like spilled chocolate or something on the ground. Spilled chocolate is insane. Mojo in the Morning, I got to bring this up because, you know, we do suffer our car dealer friends all the time i've got gordon chevrolet uh cab's got zot ford shannon you got moran automotive right let me let me tell you this one yesterday i saw something do you judge a person based on their car okay and i'm gonna ask this question like dating wise tell me be honest i'd like you to participate in this one tell me if you think you should judge a person based on the kind of car that they drive. And I'll give you my example on this one. So I was out and I ran into a, um, a person that came up to me and he handed me his business card. And when he handed me his business card, I also saw that he had a name tag on him and the name tag in the business card showed that he was a realtor. He was a real estate agent. Okay. Very nicely dressed guy. Okay. very seemed like he's a pretty successful dude had a had a you know nice outfit on he was wearing like uh like what looked like a i don't know a semi nice suit you know i don't know what i don't know suits i don't know if he was suits but yeah he had a nice suit on you look good all right no i don't know what it was i don't know suits you know what i mean like i know i know i'm a quarter zip guy i don't know suits you know polos so i'm talking to him and he's like he's like hey if you and chelsea ever want to sell your house and i'm like going i'm perking up man i'm because i'm always looking to sell like i'm i want to sell it chelsea doesn't want to i want to sell i'm like i'd love to be able to sell and downsize i would love to move into a condo or something like that or a townhouse so i don't have to deal with all the crap of fixing things and things i'm at that point right now so long story short i'm i'm getting this guy's sales pitch and then we say goodbye to him and leave we're in the parking lot of this place he walks over to his car i go walk over to my car the guy was driving a hoopty and i looked at that and i thought to myself he's not a good realtor well i thought instantly i thought to myself i go i can't let this guy sell my house he's not a car salesman no no no his home is probably incredible i can't i don't care i can't have first off i wouldn't let him park that car in my driveway when he comes over to praise my house because it would probably leak oil all over my driveway he started up you had to duck Kevin no joke this so can I tell you what it was in this guy this guy I hope this guy's not

02:22:57 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 2:

mad at me maybe if he's listening call up and I'll let you plug your real estate agency he was driving a Cadillac Escalade model from 1990. They had changed the body styles five times in the time that he's had this thing. And it had rust all over it. I mean, it was. I'm looking at this thing. I hate to say this. And this sounds so bougie. And honestly, I sound like I am such a not a man of the people. But this guy, I would not want him to sell the tree fort in the backyard. I don't want this guy selling my house if he's driving around in a car that has 280,000 miles on it.

02:23:48 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Right? I agree with you. So I don't know what that says about me. But I will say there are people that just don't care about their cars. and i say that because one of my best friend's husbands is a very very successful guy and he has the same car i think from when they got married like 12 years ago and he just doesn't care about but does it look nice he always has a nice new car no what does he do for a living what does

02:24:19 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

he do for a living uh owns a marketing company okay i don't know if i want him i'm telling you

02:24:25 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 1:

But he always is just like, I'd rather you, like, that's something you care about. You're driving the kids. You have the nice new vehicle. He just doesn't care. I feel that. I don't know. So if you judged him, and I do it, but if you judged him by his car, you'd be like, that guy.

02:24:41 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to say this to you. If that guy's marketing things, he should market himself a car. He should market himself a new deal in a car. To Shannon Point, some people just don't care. I don't know. Mallory, is it petty of me to think that if you're driving a bad car, I'm not going to hire you to do something for me? Unless maybe you're in the landscaping, you know, doing landscaping or something like that?

02:25:05 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not. I think that if you drive a car that has rims and tinted windows, you're a drug dealer. Oh, my God.

02:25:12 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 1:

I think Jared Goff has rims and tinted windows. Yep, drug dealer.

02:25:19 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 6:

Yes, exactly.

02:25:21 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 2:

It is funny, though.

02:25:22 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 6:

I will judge your car all day.

02:25:23 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

It is funny, though. when you look at certain cars and if i see certain types of vehicles i instantly do think what their occupation is you know what i mean like if i see if i see somebody in like a bentley or like one of those like bmws or whatever i'm thinking the guy's a doctor or a lawyer if i see somebody in an escalade with big old rims on it i think the guy's in some kind of a like uh he's part of the

02:25:48 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 1:

the weed business or something you know y'all got mine like police officers yeah like my doctor

02:25:54 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 6:

doctors who work at our hospital and you know which doctor's on staff by which bmw's in the

02:25:59 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 2:

parking lot exactly right yeah and you 100 and when i pull into the uh puff cannabis i know who the owner is of the uh the place what's going on how you doing melissa hi hi good morning what's

02:26:16 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 5:

I just want to say that most millionaires drive Hondas because they know not to buy depreciating assets. So he's smart. He put his money in the houses and not cars.

02:26:28 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 2:

No, Melissa, I'm sorry. I get the idea that, you know, who is it? Warren Buffett, the richest man in the world, they say still drives. Google what car he drives. I think he drives like an old car.

02:26:39 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 1:

All right. But it's not.

02:26:40 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 2:

But it's no. I think it's, if I'm not mistaken, it might be like an American car or something like that.

02:26:46 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 1:

He drives a 2014 Cadillac XTS.

02:26:49 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Or Google. 2014, not 1992, you know? Yeah, I saw that Warren Buffett has, like, an old car. But, you know, he's got it at least from our decade. What's going on, Brianna?

02:27:06 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I used to judge people based off of their cars because I always drove really nice cars. And my last car was a 2017 Subaru Impreza. And my boyfriend, like, even the same, he drove, like, a 2020, like, Jeep when I started dating him. So he crashed my 2017 car. And to replace it, his family got a 2004 Escape. So now I drive around in a Hoopty. So I can't judge people based off their cars anymore because we both work in sales. So, like, part of our profession is trying to convince someone to go on to what we are selling all day. We work at Lifetime. So, they sell, like, the healthy way of life. Like, I'm sure you guys know. Yeah. So, we have to get people to join. And that's, like, one of the most expensive gyms to join, like, in Michigan. So, I guess you can't judge people based off of their cars anymore. You can't. Because, like, there are people out there. I get it. Like, I didn't choose this life. They'd apparently chose me because, you know, I didn't get the same car.

02:28:09 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I got to tell you something. This is interesting. But years and years ago when I first moved to Michigan, I was driving, and don't be mad at me, I was driving a Toyota 4Runner. Okay? I had a Toyota. And when I pulled into the car dealership, clients of the radio station, I used to have to park like a block down the street. Imagine this fat guy having to walk a block to go. It was good for you. And so I kind of get the idea of certain cars, but that was what I could afford at the time. And it was a great deal. It was a great lease on the thing.

02:28:39 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:28:39 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

So I kind of got into cars a little bit more when I moved to Michigan. And I still think, though, that you can still get a decent car out there for a decent price. I just don't know if I want my real estate agent driving a bad one.

02:28:52 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 1:

It's in you. It ain't owe you.

02:28:55 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't want him to. How would you like what would you do if you're what would you do if your real estate agent showed up in a pair of sweatpants? Like, can you get the job done? He's not going to sell that house with sweatpants on.

02:29:07 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 1:

No. I'm telling you, this is the same conversation. You go for a 10 with zero personality.

02:29:14 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 7:

It's just, it is kind of interesting though, because real estate agents care so much about their image. Yeah. Look at all the photos that these guys put out wearing their, you know, designer belts and shoes. And so then for him to have to be driving a hoopty is just funny.

02:29:29 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 1:

funny food i probably have ever had probably came from the most sweatiest looking man you would ever think exactly oh yeah but not a skinny guy you don't want a skinny guy as your chef what's

02:29:40 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 4:

up georgia hi hi i just you just basically said it was once you get moved to detroit your perception of cars or how we perceive cars here yeah is way more in tune than anywhere else

02:29:54 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

in the country right we we are car we are car people right we know cars

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 4:

I've lived in a bunch of different states.

02:30:02 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 6:

Let me run this by you. Georgia, if you hired a landscaper and your landscaper pulled up in a Mercedes sedan, wouldn't you say to yourself, where's the pickup truck? You know what I mean?

02:30:20 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 4:

Of course. Of course. I totally judge cars. I think we judge cars more here in Detroit because it's the automotive industry. than anywhere else.

02:30:30 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 5:

Let me ask you this. If you go out to eat with the mayor of Detroit and he pulls up in a...

02:30:37 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

Don't say what he drives.

02:30:39 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 6:

He drives an American car. What year? 2020-something. Oh, it is?

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 5:

Probably.

02:30:45 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 6:

No, no. I think he's got a city vehicle. I think he drives a city vehicle.

02:30:49 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 5:

I thought it was like an old joint.

02:30:51 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:30:51 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 5:

But you don't expect... Shouldn't he be in a Cadillac, black-on-black, tinted windows? No, he's not Kwame Kilpatrick. I'm just saying. He's the biggest politician in our city.

02:31:01 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 6:

What's up, B? Initial B? Your voice is, guys.

02:31:04 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:31:05 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:31:06 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys. I was calling in. I'm a realtor myself. And early on in my career, you know, I had like a tempo. I don't know if you remember that. Oh, I remember those tempos. Was that a Ford? Yeah. Yeah, a Ford tempo. So I was so embarrassed of my car, and I used to either park around the corner if I had a show house and try to get there early, or I used to borrow my aunt's vehicles to impress clients. Her aunt's what?

02:31:43 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 6:

You would borrow the vehicles. Oh. Yeah. I have a friend of mine that is in sales game, and his car was broken. This is actually pretty interesting. and his kid had a beater you know like had a had a car that was like a bad one and that was what his teenage kid drove and he had to go on a sales call he rented a car because he didn't want to go pulling up in that because he didn't want his clients to look at him in a bad car hold on uh what's up casey hi what's up um i'm calling because i'm also a real estate agent

02:32:16 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

um in toledo and um it goes both ways like people know that people judge realtors for the type of car they drive yeah so people will obviously get a flashy car but it goes both ways like just because somebody is driving a really expensive car and is wearing nice clothes and heels does not mean they're a good realtor so i get it it just means that somebody has money or you know they got money some way but people assume that oh this person wears expensive clothes and has designer purses but casey here's the deal you know if this guy sells my house i'm only giving them two percent so i just wanted to well that's between you and him but i'm just saying it goes both ways you know you can judge them for being bad but it doesn't mean they're good just because

02:33:05 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 6:

they have an expensive car right i remember i remember when uh we were trying to sell our house our last house and we would people would come look at the house i would always sit down the street and spy on them and i would see them pull up and i would watch what kind of vehicles they pulled up in and i would watch how they got out of the vehicle and how they dressed and stuff like that i'm like all those people aren't buying this house you know what i mean like one of those

02:33:25 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 5:

things oh absolutely yeah listen it ain't how it's not if you can get it it's can you keep it i get it you know what i'm saying and that happened with dating a lot too like you you might have recruitment budget but you don't have operational costs could you wait hey you imagine

02:33:39 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 6:

if you're a girl and you went on a date with a guy and the guy pulls up. I was going to say, that's Kevin's car.

02:33:47 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead, go ahead.

02:33:48 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 6:

With his entire clothing in the backseat of that car.

02:33:51 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 5:

I got extra panties for Shannon. I would think his girl just kicked him out of the house

02:33:57 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 6:

and he's living in his car. All right, right now, Summer of Cars, Cash, and Gas. This is it. This is the last one. Uh-oh. The last one on our show here. Mr. Irrelevant. Your last chance to get qualified right now for a brand new 2025 loaded Chevy Trax. Hello, Mr. Real Estate Agent. Or $20,000, 844-MOJO-LIVE.

02:34:20 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:34:23 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Shannon. What's going on in the 30? Hi.

02:34:25 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

So, superstars in the music world mourning the death of Ozzy Osbourne this morning. I love that Elton John called. First off, I didn't know that they were actually very, very close friends. but he said that Ozzy was one of the funniest people he had ever met. Rod Stewart writing, bye-bye, Ozzy. Sleep well, my friend. I will see you up there later rather than sooner. Gene Simmons of the band Kiss. You saw him and your jaw dropped. This guy just walked out and said madness followed him. The eulogy for Ozzy should be written by the fans. He invented...

02:35:00 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 5:

himself. Yeah, he was so good. This was a clip that I pulled from an interview that he did with Robin Roberts when he admitted or he came out talking about how he had Parkinson's. In 2020,

02:35:16 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 3:

Ozzie and Sharon revealed to our Robin Roberts Ozzie's multiple health issues. I did my last

02:35:21 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 4:

show. New Year's Eve, and so I swore him. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerve in. And I found out that I have a mild form. I just never put it. It's, um, talking to.

02:35:42 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 3:

The gene, which is known to cause early onset Parkinson's. As his fans now mourn his loss, The No More Tears singer leaves behind a legacy that transcends music, pop culture, and generations. He was a true rock star.

02:36:00 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 4:

When I get on the stage, something takes over. It's a freedom. Only one feeling like it. Sex, drugs, or whatever, don't come in and close.

02:36:11 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 1:

It's funny, you can't understand what the heck he's saying when he was talking, but when he's saying...

02:36:15 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 5:

It's so crazy.

02:36:16 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, right?

02:36:17 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 5:

It's kind of almost like me when I'm trying to get a thought. You know what I mean? Sometimes. I can't get it out unless I'm behind the microphone here.

02:36:31 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 1:

Are they together? Are they not together? Are they just co-parenting really well? Megan Fox and her, I think, still ex, Machine Gun Kelly, spotted with their three-month-old daughter, Saga Blade Fox Baker, while on vacation in Costa Rica over the weekend. Very rare joint appearance for the two of them. They supposedly broke up in December, one month after sharing news of Megan's pregnancy, but now vacationing very much together.

02:36:58 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 2:

You're trying to find the pictures, how they look, specifically Megan Fox.

02:37:02 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 1:

I mean, well, she, so the photo that I saw was taken like while they were traveling. So she was like dressed way down. I'm not as interested anymore. We briefly talked about this idea yesterday, This idea that ex-astronomer CEO Andy Byron could, could he, I should say, sue Coldplay over all of the fallout that he experienced from the kiss cam fiasco getting busted with his HR executive girlfriend. So attorneys are saying, technically, there's a very small chance, but he could do it if he got creative. He could sue for defamation because of what Chris Martin said when their video appeared on the big screen at Gillette Stadium when he characterized them as having an affair. Defamation is a statement, it can be written or verbal, that injures somebody's reputation. But the thing with them is it wasn't speculation, it was truth, unless he could prove that he was not having an affair with Kristen Cabot. But I mean, they were busted with their arms around each other. So clearly there was something happening there. And also the issue that the video was taken in a public venue. This happened in a public place would also figure into it. So I don't know. And lastly, NBC, if you're a fan of The Voice, has officially picked up season 29 of the show. It's at to premiere in February. There is going to be some sort of format revamp, although I haven't gotten details on what that means. But returning to the coaches chairs that season, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine will be back as well.

02:38:31 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 5:

I saw a stat. You were talking about how Stephen Colbert's show got canceled. A lot of people were upset. It cost $100 million to put together his show. They say that the show loses $40 million a year based off of that. His salary alone is like $20 million. The voice costs less than $10 million to actually make. And the advertising dollars on the thing is more than $75 million.

02:38:57 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 1:

Holy cow.

02:38:58 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 5:

So there's the profit to do that stuff. Yeah. Wow.

02:39:01 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 1:

The Trax, yes. Congrats. People needing cars in the family, yes. We got to do it.

02:40:27 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 3:

We got to get a new car for you so that you can and bring that thing home to Brighton. Is that where you live in Brighton?

02:40:32 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Yes, I live in Brighton, and Mojo, I've been listening to you since the beginning when you started.

02:40:40 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 3:

Since the beginning of electricity. Since Edison invented it for us. I'm happy that you're here. I love you for listening, Denise. Thank you so much.

02:40:53 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you bet. You guys are awesome. We'll see you tomorrow.

02:40:56 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 4:

Did you just blow a kiss, or was that you, Mojo? I always do it, low-key. Anytime somebody say, I love you, when you do that, I love you too, I'll be like, I'm a loader.

02:41:05 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Denise. See you tomorrow.

02:41:07 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank you. It's not sexual harassment.

02:41:08 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 3:

Hey, question for you, Denise. Tomorrow, with the throwback throwdown, it's Shannon, Kev, and then our boss is coming to play with us because Mike cannot make it in from Grand Rapids. And so those are the three people. You're chosen out of the hat. Which one of these three do you want to choose you? Who do you think is going to win the throwback throwdown and win a car for a listener tomorrow?

02:41:32 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 5:

Well, Shannon's always been my girl, so. I love you, Denise. I gave her four kisses. Yeah, I know, Shannon, I recently DM'd you about, after listening to Lydia and Bianca's trip to Miami, I'm like, oh, my God, they have to. Why are you looking for somebody? You have those, too.

02:41:53 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 3:

You're going down tomorrow, Denise. Sorry. Joe's wrong. Denise, he just went from being really, really loving you to now he doesn't care about you anymore.

02:42:01 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 5:

Who's this on the phone? No, you guys are all awesome. All of you.

02:42:04 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 4:

Actually, Denise, you were the 96th caller. Sorry about that.

02:42:08 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 3:

No. We wouldn't do that to you, Denise. Denise, tomorrow it's going to be fun. It's going to be such a great time. When we do this, these guys get so nervous over the fact that normally they're trying to win $500, which is a lot as a prize from Imagine. Tomorrow, it's a brand-new car. So make sure you're listening tomorrow at 8 o'clock. WKQI Detroit.

02:42:32 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 2:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:42:46 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 3:

This is kind of wild. I don't know. Isn't there like an age restriction on this one? But teens are using dating apps more than you think. So Northwestern did a study and found one in four teens are using dating apps, but no link to worse mental health over six months, I guess they came up with. Teens who use dating apps like Tinder or Bumble reported similar levels of depression or anxiety as non-users. many users were lgbtq plus teens suggesting that the apps offered a safe place for connection while the dating app users did show more risky behavior early on it didn't lead to worse outcomes um researchers say don't panic talk to your kids instead how old do you look so if you're a teen

02:43:42 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 4:

what are you 18 19 that's what i'm wondering is that what they're saying what's you know what i

02:43:47 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 3:

would have loved well i know but i would like to know how like is there anybody that's underage because you're not well no you're on facebook yeah and in instagram and stuff like that and technically you're not supposed to be on there until a certain age do are there people like are there are there any teens that listen to us and i'm talking even younger than 18 that

02:44:05 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 1:

do dating apps and are and if so because all you have to do is lie about your birthday yeah that's what that's not like they're do you have to upload your driver's license or anything when

02:44:15 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 4:

you use dating that's what i thought but per google it's exactly what you're saying it's just like it's like when you used to go on a porn site and say are you over 18 you click yes

02:44:22 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 3:

basically like that you can circumvent it if you're if you're under the age of the legal age which is what 18 years old yeah and you're using it are you going on dates with people then or is that like that's scary because how what what would that do for you if you're somebody that is in your 20s and you go on a date and you and the person says that they're 18 years old and it turns out that you guys meet have sex or whatever now you're a pedophile and now you're considered a

02:44:53 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 4:

you consider to be a pedophile i'm telling you going on tinder some of these people do look younger than what their age is even if you

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 2:

see people on there that said a 24 23 you'd be looking like you don't even look that up if that

02:45:05 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 1:

happened to you would you ask to see their id if they looked if you were unsure yeah probably i

02:45:13 - 02:45:22 | Speaker 2:

probably just wouldn't i ain't that it sounds no i know it sounds stupid but i feel like you really have to protect yourself yeah no facts then i mean what if you run into a situation where they got

02:45:22 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 3:

fake ids that's a thing too um texter here this is uh 248 248 says i won't go on the air because my family listens to you i am under 18 and i am on hinge no you're unhinged i could you imagine if you're got if if you're what would you so first off josiah already acts like he's like 18 like he already acts like he's actually an older woman actually Josiah looks like he's he looks like he's you know 12 years old but when he opens up his mouth and starts talking he's 66 you know I think he will be with an

02:46:01 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 2:

older woman but

02:46:03 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 3:

why just because girls his age

02:46:05 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 2:

I think so yeah I think he'll be girls like he's stupid man

02:46:11 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 3:

this is wild look at all these texters that are call up 844 Mojo live if you're If you are on a dating app or doing some kind of a dating online and you are under the age of 18, we want you to call up.

02:46:27 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 1:

Because there's no dating app for high school kids.

02:46:30 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, Perk, is there? JGPT said there are very safe, age-appropriate platforms. One is called Yubo, formerly Yellow. Some is called Spot a Friend. And then some is called My LOL. Isn't Yubo also, though, for over 18 or no? I don't know, it just says, let's teams connect, but it's raised safety concerns in the past.

02:46:52 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 3:

To me, I don't know. I just sit there and I think to myself, this is, you know, it's the Wild West out there when it comes to these dating apps. Nobody is who they say they are. What's up, Megan? Hi.

02:47:07 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going?

02:47:09 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 3:

What? Try that one more time. Hold on a second. Say that again. What?

02:47:16 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 1:

I said, hey, how's it going?

02:47:18 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there you go. That was good. I got you. What's up?

02:47:21 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Not much. I was 18 when I met my boyfriend, right? And I looked a lot younger. And my boyfriend's mom actually asked for my ID to double check.

02:47:33 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 3:

Because she didn't want her boy doing something. And then all of a sudden coming out later that you were underage.

02:47:41 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 1:

Exactly.

02:47:41 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 3:

Is it weird to ask somebody for their ID or to get, like, permission or something like that? Like, verbal permission? A buddy of mine was telling me that...

02:47:52 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 1:

So, no, it made me feel really weird. It didn't make me feel weird. But now that I'm older and I have kids, I totally understand.

02:47:59 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 3:

A buddy of mine was telling me that he feels weird going on dates right now. And then when they do, like, mess around, he feels like he wants to get verbal consent because he doesn't want anybody to come back.

02:48:09 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 1:

Video consent on your phone. I know. That's wild.

02:48:13 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 3:

Isn't there an app that does that? I'm sure there is or something like that.

02:48:16 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Bro, I'm not trying to sleep with somebody and then pull out an app.

02:48:19 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, you got to pull out the app first before you do that.

02:48:24 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 2:

We going too far, man.

02:48:25 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 3:

Look at this texter here. I'm a mom of a 15-year-old that I caught on a dating app.

02:48:32 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if it was a girl or a boy, daughter or son.

02:48:35 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 3:

Let's see what you try to call that person.

02:48:36 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I feel like, I don't know how to sound, But I feel like this would be more of a problem for young women than young men.

02:48:43 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 1:

Why do you say that?

02:48:44 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like. Just older. When I think about it, I just.

02:48:47 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 1:

Men looking for that or.

02:48:49 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 2:

No, I just like if I close my eyes and you ask me the question, you know, what does this child look like? Or whatever the case is, if somebody would actually be younger than 18 and going on an app to date, I just think girls.

02:49:04 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 3:

But I would be concerned with having sons. Like, you know, Luke was a good-looking, you know, or was a good-looking guy. He is a good-looking guy. My son Luke is. And he would have older women all the time that would flirt with him and stuff. Like, I would not want him all of a sudden at 17 years old or 16.

02:49:20 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 1:

Attempting to meet strangers on it.

02:49:22 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, now they meet on video games and stuff, too.

02:49:25 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 2:

You know, those pop-ups aren't true? Hey, I'm Danielle in 58 in Bloomfield. Right. Party to party tonight.

02:49:31 - 02:49:44 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever see those ones? And you look and you go, hey, I think I know her from somewhere. She was walking her dog by the park by my house. What's up, Devin? How you doing? Good. You? Doing all right. What happened to you, Devin?

02:49:45 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 1:

So I was 17 and went on a dating app and told everyone I was 21, and I lost my virginity to a 23-year-old. Wow.

02:49:56 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 3:

And she thought you were in your mid-20s.

02:50:00 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:50:01 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 3:

Man, that's not good. I mean, I guess at 17, she couldn't have legally gotten in trouble, right? Because is their age of consent at 17? Maybe? I don't know. What app was this? Tinder. Man. You can do that. Where did you guys end up going on dates when you were that age? Because I would think that that would be weird to go to a bar and order a Coke. Went to Olive Garden. Did you? When you guys would sit there, did she ever think that, you know, why is this guy not ordering a glass of wine or anything?

02:50:38 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 2:

She asked me, and I told her I was waiting to get back to the house because I didn't want to drive while intoxicated.

02:50:46 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 5:

And where did y'all go? Like, where did y'all actually have sex at?

02:50:50 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Her apartment.

02:50:51 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 5:

So you said, I'm going to wait to go home to drink. Okay.

02:50:55 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

But you took her back to her apartment. You couldn't bring her to your house because you had race car posters on your wall. Goldfish to feed. Like, could you imagine, hey, mom, I want you to meet my new friend. Don't mind her, you know. She looks like she's 30. I mean, it worked. It worked. Could you imagine if you're that girl and you find out that you just had sex with a 17-year-old? Chuck, what's up?

02:51:25 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 1:

What's up, man?

02:51:26 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 3:

Nothing much. What's going on?

02:51:28 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't even want to make a comment about dating now. At one point in time, I met a chick on Facebook dating. She had her age posted as 23. She was 18. Met up with the chick, had consensual sex with her, and then later on, I got arrested for forcing her to ask Angie's face, which was false.

02:51:49 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you got arrested. Hold on. But she was 18 years old. Why did you get arrested?

02:51:54 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean, her friend called and said that she was kidnapped and forced in my car.

02:52:00 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, there's more to this story.

02:52:02 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 6:

But was there proof on the Facebook dating? Like, there had to be some sort of, like, messages back and forth, right? Proving that it was consensual for her to meet up with you?

02:52:11 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I had proved. That's why I didn't get charged for... Oh, okay. Wow. But I still got screwed over and went to jail for 90 days for something I did not.

02:52:23 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 5:

crazy when did you find out that she was 18 and had lied about her age after i got out of jail

02:52:30 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

and looked this person up and found out they was 18 instead of 23 they was actually from detroit michigan as well but met this girl we've been talking for a couple of days met up with her we agreed to have sex sex was consensual and then she wanted to try any sex come to find out i got arrested because they said I forced it to have any sex, which was

02:52:53 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 3:

false. Wow. Man, I got to tell you that that's one of those things where it's a he said, she said, and you now have to instead of innocent until proven guilty, you're guilty until proven innocent on that. Keith, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

02:53:11 - 02:53:30 | Speaker 4:

Just fine. Just fine. Yeah. So I was 17 and it was my mom's, one of my mom's best friend i don't know how it happened but it happened and it made things very uncomfortable i never told her hopefully wait on a dating app we're talking about dating apps and being underage

02:53:30 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 3:

on a dating app you're just talking about the fact that you were 17 years old having sex with your mom's friend same thing no it's not the same same thing no we're talking about people who lie about their age and they go on a dating app younger you're talking about the fact that you had you know, Mrs. Robinson hanging down the street from you.

02:53:51 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was terrible. It was terrible.

02:53:54 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you're only calling Keith because you want to brag about the fact that you bagged your mom's friend.

02:54:01 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

That's right. You know it.

02:54:03 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever see her now, like as a grown man?

02:54:07 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 5:

I'm trying for her to look me in the eye because I beat it up. You are crazy. Y'all just did it the one time?

02:54:14 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 4:

No, no. It was an ongoing thing? I sweated that thing out, yeah. People are crazy right now.

02:54:22 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how old was she? You're 17 years old. How old was she?

02:54:26 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 4:

She was in her 30s. Oh, my God.

02:54:29 - 02:54:34 | Speaker 3:

Shannon. She called me to energize him. All right, Shannon.

02:54:34 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 6:

What? I don't ask anything, please.

02:54:36 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 3:

No, think of you and all your girlfriends, and this is a 17-year-old guy. Do you see 17-year-old guys and find them attractive?

02:54:44 - 02:54:44 | Unknown:

No.

02:54:45 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:54:45 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm saying think about Smith growing up and hitting one of your friends. I would be. How would you say that? Which friend do you think it would be? I would be. Which friend? If you had the big one. He's got him.

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 1:

No, he's not.

02:55:01 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 5:

He's a good boy, and he's not going to do that.

02:55:04 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 1:

If they're hot and they open that door, he's in there.

02:55:06 - 02:55:22 | Speaker 5:

Let me tell you, Keith, we're keeping him locked up until he's 25, and then he's coming out after that. We're not allowing it. All right, take care of yourself, Keith. Yes. Oh, God. Can I end the show now, please, after that one?

02:55:23 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 4:

I feel like he just called the radio stations and told us to him.

02:55:27 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 5:

Brio, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:55:29 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi, it's Brianna. I used to go on group dates when Tinder had them in Ann Arbor and find frat parties to go to.

02:55:38 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 5:

And how old were you?

02:55:40 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 3:

We were like 16 or 17.

02:55:42 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Yeah. Wait, and these college frat boys had no idea that you were underage?

02:55:48 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 3:

They did not care. I'm calling my son.

02:55:52 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 5:

I am calling my son right now, and I'm telling him that he is not allowed to go back to school. That is nuts. Did it ever go?

02:55:58 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

They got rid of group dating, so it was no longer fun. Once you had to, like, find your own guy, it wasn't fun anymore.

02:56:07 - 02:56:07 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:56:08 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 5:

Did you guys fool around? Did you fool around with any guys when you were 16?

02:56:13 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 3:

No, we were looking for alcohol. That was it. And have our own party.

02:56:18 - 02:56:22 | Speaker 5:

You were a good girl. All right, well, be careful. And watch out for a guy named Keith. That's all.

02:57:24 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 4:

that is correct yeah yeah yeah which is awkward then all of a sudden when

02:57:30 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 5:

you don't talk to them about going out on another date or don't get them to go on another date

02:57:35 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 4:

yeah it's been it's been uh it's been pretty awkward you know um and i haven't been quite sure how to approach it you know um yeah i have to tell you that that's why you

02:57:50 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 5:

don't date in the office you just have sex with them in the office like this is one of those things like i don't think dating is a good idea um hey uh lydia who do i got on the phone here with me right now this is a rajah a rajah is a wait dante are you at work right now are you getting to work right now i am getting to work right now okay a rajah are you at work are you also on your way to work hello no i'm on my way to work you're on your way a rajah will you say

02:58:30 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 5:

raja is this going to be a little awkward for you to do knowing that probably in just a matter of an hour or so you guys are going to be seeing each other face to face i mean i don't work is

02:58:43 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 2:

work i don't need to i don't need to see him pass whatever whatever i need to ask him for Like, this is, you know, this work is work.

02:58:50 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? So are you not interested? And that's why you haven't given Dante another date? What's up?

02:58:59 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not interested at all. And since he wants to put all of our business out there, I'm going to just, you know, tell it to you straight up. He split into my co-workers DMs the day after we hooked up. Whoa. Oh, wow. Wait a second. I don't think anything else needs to be said.

02:59:14 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Is that true, Dante? Whoa. Wait a minute. How did you even find out about that? Wait a minute. Yeah. What you doing, bro? How did you even find out about that?

02:59:31 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't think you understand that girls talk, okay? Like, I don't even think, like, you think you're slick and everything, but you talk to my friend, our coworker, but my friend. It's my closest friend at the job.

02:59:43 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 4:

okay so i mean but the thing is is that you and i are not dating we're not even serious

02:59:51 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 2:

we went out on one day serious what are you talking about you literally hooked up with me after dinner

02:59:56 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

but

03:00:00 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 3:

It was a hookup. That's what it was. It was a hookup. That's messed up. So who knows who else you're talking to at the job? But we're not seriously invested, though. We hadn't gone out.

03:00:11 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 6:

We're serious enough that she wanted to hook up with me.

03:00:13 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 3:

We hadn't been dating for months and months and months. That's not been the case.

03:00:17 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 1:

But wait a second. You were invested enough that you wanted to know why you weren't hearing from her.

03:00:23 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Right. That's what it is. Because, I mean, listen, we were, it was, I felt like it was a really nice night that we had together.

03:00:33 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

03:00:34 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 3:

And, but we weren't, we weren't serious enough for, for her to like not talk to me just because I slid in her friend's DM.

03:00:45 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 6:

But why would you do that? Why would you do that right after talking to me? Like, I don't date people like that. Like, she can honestly have you. Like, I'm not, I'm not trying to be a player. You know what I mean? Never.

03:00:55 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 5:

Let me just real quick before it gets to go too far because you guys do work together with each other. I want to just ask Dante a couple of questions. Dante, you don't think that when you take a girl out on a date and you guys have a good enough date where you guys end up hooking up with each other, you don't think that you probably shouldn't be just then trying to hook up with another person in the office? You don't think that that's your call to basically say, all right, I'm going to see how this relationship works? Was it just purely sex that you were looking for?

03:01:27 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 3:

It wasn't purely sex I was looking for. I mean, I really do like her. However, I didn't think it was serious enough because it was only one date. So you're not logically for me.

03:01:42 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You're not committed, you're saying, to her.

03:01:45 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

That's right. That's right. After one date.

03:01:48 - 03:02:13 | Speaker 1:

I understand that, but I would still feel exactly the same way that she does. I'd be. Yeah I'd feel used a little bit. I'd feel used. I would feel hurt. I would think that you're not looking for anything more than a hookup. So the fact the fact to me that you called because you wanted to know why you weren't hearing back it's like it's like an oxymoron to me.

03:02:13 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 4:

I don't think anybody did anything wrong but it is crazy to reach out to and plus you got to know they friends and they probably are going to talk because that's what friends do to hit her up the next day is where you kind of messed up ali what's up i didn't know ali oh i just want to say this

03:02:33 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 7:

woman is so funny and i love her boundaries this man's a clown um but i just i funniest second

03:02:41 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 5:

update update ever so araja gets a little love from ali on this one araja say hi to ali

03:02:47 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 7:

hi ali i'm glad you agree with me oh my gosh 100 thanks ali appreciate you what's up eric hi

03:02:56 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 2:

hi how are you today good what are your thoughts um the whatever his name is he's kind of a dummy yeah yeah yeah yeah dante is a dummy uh because like it's like when you have a pre when you have a pre-established relationship such as like a work relationship and then you go to take the next step to go into dating and everything like that. At that point in time, I don't know if he's never heard of the term like don't dip your pen in company ink, but that's a very messy business. You can't just sit there and go ahead and screw around with all the girls in the office. When you start to make that step, you have to assume that you're already a little bit further in the relationship. You can't start making things messy. It's just being dumb.

03:03:40 - 03:03:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it definitely gets even messier that they work together. Vicky, comment here, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What are your thoughts about what Dante did to Araja?

03:03:51 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 7:

I just said he's a player. Bye.

03:03:54 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 5:

That's all. That's all you got to say. Do you think that Dante's look now in the office is going to be bad amongst the women knowing this?

03:04:04 - 03:04:04 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:04:05 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 5:

I hope so. Dante, do you worry about that?

03:04:08 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 3:

listen you know i think that i'm able to like move in a space where i can i understand that work is work and that what i do outside of work you know i can i i can handle both essentially

03:04:25 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 1:

but but when you're mixing work and what you do outside of work you have to understand there are going to be consequences right

03:04:32 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 3:

sure but at this rate which is where we are sure but at this rate again like i said it was one day he could bro it wasn't it wasn't as serious

03:04:49 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 5:

to me you know but i i think a rajah you had to be just shocked when oh i'd be reeling when your co-worker says

03:05:00 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 6:

dante now is hitting me up she was like what is that how did it come out like how did that happen

03:05:05 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 1:

of course like we we are best like that's my best friend in the workplace and it's like i feel like there's levels to it you know what i mean like he took me out and then we hooked up he could have talked to anybody else but he decides to talk to not only someone in the same workspace not even someone a couple weeks later the night after we hook up with who else but my best friend at work like he just doesn't care and honestly if i can tell y'all i'm tired of men telling you straight up to your face that oh like they want something with you or they they make it seem and appear deeper than it actually is and then in front of everybody else and their homeboys and their friends they try to make it seem like oh no it's not that deep it was just a couple dates no he he tried to make it seem like we were actually working towards something yeah jasmine

03:05:49 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 6:

What's up? It's Mojo on the morning. Hi. Second date update.

03:05:52 - 03:05:52 | Unknown:

Trauma.

03:05:53 - 03:06:18 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. Long time listener. First time. Hey, Jazz on the phone. Yay. I was just saying, it's really gross that he's trying to ride his way through the whole company. Yeah. It sounds like he just wants to sleep with anyone in the company. Maybe that's a thing. Is that what he's into? It feels like it is. It might not be his thing, but sometimes you work with many beautiful people.

03:06:18 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 7:

We had a guy who worked here that was that.

03:06:20 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Remember?

03:06:21 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

03:06:21 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 2:

You may work long hours. I know people who like to just stick it in the company ink. I don't know.

03:06:28 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 6:

I know. But this is a good one. Ours was a bad one. The people in our office didn't talk to each other. They probably, I think, like a Raja, that a Raja is willing to say something about it. Because in our company, it didn't come out until well after the fact, which was awkward. But, all right, second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:06:43 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:06:51 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 6:

All right, we are done for today. We are back tomorrow from Gordon Chevrolet.

03:06:58 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to win someone a car. I'm already nervous. I'm already nervous.

03:07:02 - 03:07:26 | Speaker 6:

Make sure that you listen throughout the day today on Detroit's Channel 955 to EJ, The Joe Show, and Colt. They will have the last chances to win, so you can listen to that on the iHeartRadio app or if you're in Detroit, just listen on the radio. And, of course, make sure you keep it on this radio station, no matter which one you're listening to, SNX or KISS, throughout the day for other great prizes. We'll see you tomorrow.

03:07:26 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 7:

We got to get Colt a better name. Listen to that slate. Mojo on the Morning Show, EJ, The Joe Show, and Colt. I love Colt. I love it. I'm just saying it doesn't roll off the tongue like that.

03:07:38 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 6:

First off, you meet Colt, and he is a Colt. So, yes, you realize he's a Colt right off the bat.

03:07:44 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 7:

All right.

03:07:44 - 03:07:52 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day. We'll see you. Bye-bye. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:07:52 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 5:
