00:01:03 - 00:01:09 | Speaker 4:

That was insane. I don't think I went to bed that early this entire year.

00:01:09 - 00:01:17 | Speaker 3:

That's it. You didn't get the energy from working out. You finally decided to go to bed early instead of waking up, staying up late watching sports. I didn't decide to go to bed.

00:01:17 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 4:

I was forced to go to bed. You were exhausted. I was exhausted. Pilates is not for the faint of heart. And we had callers who called in yesterday that are like, Kev, don't go hard. You don't have to worry about that. It's not your decision to go hard. It is Pilates. I felt like, you know those, like, I don't know if it's National Geographic or you see those safari videos where you see a deer coming out the wound that can barely walk. That's how I felt when I was here. Oh, my God. Bambi. I felt like Bambi. I felt like Bambi. Literally driving, trying to move my right leg from the brake to the gas. You were in that much pain. Oh, my God. Bro, the inside of your thighs, it was muscles I didn't know I had.

00:01:55 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, wait until tomorrow. So it's always the second day after a workout that I feel it so bad.

00:02:00 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 4:

If it's worse than it was yesterday. Shannon, it took me so long to walk to the door. Really? Bro, I'm telling you, my hamstrings, she had us doing this thing called pulse. Like, we would do, like, a regular ham. So first off, she's like, get into your pink panther pose, put the ankle weight on, and extend your glute to the sky, stretch. I'm like, she's saying all these equations. I'm like, what's going on right now? So my leg is, like, bent back. My leg is going up like this, right? And then she says pulse. Now, pulse isn't full extension. Pulse is like, bring your heel to your... Did you just get a Charlie horse? I don't know what you call it.

00:02:45 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. I can't.

00:02:47 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 4:

And I look at the lady, I'm like, you do this every day to the instructor? People who do Pilates are so ripped.

00:02:55 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 2:

They're lean and ripped. So toned.

00:02:57 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 4:

It was a girl who was in there. And while I'm, apologies to the young women that were in the class. Because sometimes you'll hear a grunt. My whole thing is, hell no. Can't do that. Nope. That's me the whole time. Nope.

00:03:12 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 2:

The video is so spectacular.

00:03:14 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 3:

You know what you're like? You're like when I go to black church and everybody just sits there and count. Amen. Amen.

00:03:21 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 4:

And I was calling on the Lord yesterday It was a lady in there Who was so unbothered By every She was just running through this Like it was brushing your teeth in the morning I could not understand how she was so unbothered That's a workout

00:03:36 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 3:

How do they take it Like how do they take it with newbies there Like with virgin Pilates You know

00:03:43 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 1:

She said it was for all levels Really? She was just like go as you need

00:03:49 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 3:

Did the people, though, that were there, that were the pros, were they, like, a little upset? Because I've gone to yoga before, and we've done our shenanigans like you guys did where we all went together. And the yoga instructor got excited that our show was hanging out there and started kind of slowing things down a little bit. And you could get the whole, I didn't come here for this. Right, right. You know, one of those type of people.

00:04:08 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 4:

And shout out to Mariana, I believe is how you pronounce her name. BC Pilates, I think it was. Lydia, you can correct me if I'm wrong. Correct. She was amazing. I felt like she cared to us. Where are we talking?

00:04:19 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 1:

It's like Hall Road and Mound.

00:04:21 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so east side. Yeah, Sterling Heights type of vibe.

00:04:24 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 3:

All right. Sterling Heights. Sterling Heights. That's how you say it, right?

00:04:27 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. They had those two poles, so Kev could not balance on the performer. So she brought out, like, pole lamps.

00:04:34 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 4:

So Kev could not balance. Really? I love it. I had my church socks on. She brought regular socks. Like, in the middle of the workout, she's like, here.

00:04:41 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 2:

So grippy socks.

00:04:42 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, grippy socks will help you. She's like, you're sliding too much. She gave you special, like the hospital socks they give you in the hospital.

00:04:50 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Like we going to Air Up There or Uptime, like one of those trampoline places. Really? Urban Air, yeah. Oh, my God. That's great. Brought me socks. Girl, look at everybody. Girl, look at everybody. I think they.

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 1:

Shout out to Black Church, too, by the way.

00:05:13 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Keith? How you doing?

00:05:16 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Yes, bro. What's going on? We had this talk yesterday morning, my man. I know. What did you do to yourself?

00:05:22 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea. But listen, I made it, Keith. I'm proud of you for going. I made it.

00:05:28 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 3:

You made it? Yes. But are you going to make it out alive? I'm crawling, man. I'm crawling out of there. Are we going to have a five-day weekend for Kev?

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 5:

Did you see the pictures of this and the videos and everything that we posted on social for this?

00:05:47 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Not yet, but I'm about to go share all of them.

00:05:49 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 5:

You got to see it. I mean, I don't think I've ever seen Kev's legs go that way.

00:05:54 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

If you zoom in, you can see sweat all over me. My shirt was soaked. And I didn't even think I was moving that much.

00:06:02 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to see that, Kev.

00:06:04 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, man.

00:06:04 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 4:

You gags for it.

00:06:05 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 5:

You got to tell your brother. Who's better, Bianca or Lydia?

00:06:10 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 4:

You couldn't tell because I feel like every time I looked over Bianca, she was looking at me laughing or she was recording videos.

00:06:16 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

I was falling to the ground. I could not hold myself up on that.

00:06:19 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Lydia was getting to it.

00:06:20 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Lydia low-key had it. Yeah. Really?

00:06:22 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

She was taking it seriously. She was a nerd. I just feel like I would say Lydia would be more focused.

00:06:27 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I couldn't do it because I would be not balanced because I'm too top-heavy. You know what I mean?

00:06:33 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you are. I mean, you know what I mean? Bro, it's different. And then, I don't know if all Pilates are the same, but we did something called Reformer, so you got, like, the sliding bar. That was the toughest part about it. I saw that. That was tough, bro.

00:06:46 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 5:

That was weird. You know what it reminded me of? You know in the carnival where they have that thing where you have to walk through and it's uneven ground and you're like, you know what I mean? The fun house. It looked like you guys were in the funhouse there.

00:06:57 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

And they had, like, these resistant coils.

00:06:59 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:07:00 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

And the more you put on there, the tougher it is to move the reformer wheel or whatever the case may be. She only put one on ours. So this thing sliding back and forth, like we on ice skates, that made it even tougher.

00:07:13 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

I put all of them on mine. You could see Kevin sliding all across that thing. He was bouncing from one end to the other. He's like, how do you make it not move? And I'm like.

00:07:23 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, when do we do regular crunches? Like, what is all this extraterrestrial activities that's taking place?

00:07:29 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 5:

It's funny. All the, you know, Kev works with the Pistons. I heard a ton of Pistons players, including Jalen, does it. I guess Jalen Duren does a lot of Pilates.

00:07:42 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

I guess it helps with balance. It's such a thing now. We'll get strong. My stepson just joined the Spartan cheerleading team. Let's go. As part of their workout, that's what they have to do. They have to take Pilates classes.

00:07:55 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

Does he get to hold a girl up by her buttocks like you see those people do, like with one arm?

00:08:00 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm thinking so. Those cheerleaders? I'm thinking he will. Watch those thumbs.

00:08:03 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Everybody used to always say, in total change of gears, but everybody used to always say that the cheerleader, the guy cheerleaders were gay and stuff like that. No, no, no. They ain't gay. They're smart.

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

That's what I told him. I'm like, you are so smart.

00:08:17 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you realize you get to hang out with the hottest girls on campus and you get to touch them legally and not get in trouble. Actually, Keith, the interesting thing with the Pilates stuff, I wonder if Pilates is like yoga. I used to love going to yoga because Raina, the yoga teacher that I used to love so much, she would come over and she'd like move my body in places and touch me. It's called adjusting. Also very legal. And she would like, you know, I would go, God, this is wild. And Chelsea would be on the mat right next to me. I'm like, my wife is watching another woman do things to me. This is amazing. Do they do that in Pilates too or does she just bark at you?

00:08:52 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 4:

Um, she kind of just barked, but it was like a soft bark.

00:08:55 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 5:

It is? Yeah. Is it, so is it, is it high energy?

00:08:58 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 4:

Like, uh, the only thing is there's not a single break. No, that's the thing. Like she's moving from exercise to exercise to exercise. No break in between. The only break you have is when you're adjusting your body from one.

00:09:13 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 5:

So you don't get to drink water. You're dehydrated for that, bro. I thought that you're, you collapse if that's the case. I always like water breaks when I'm working out. Nope. You break at your own speed. How long is a Pilates class?

00:09:26 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 4:

It was an hour.

00:09:26 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 5:

How long does it go?

00:09:26 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 1:

But we came late, and we were still struggling.

00:09:28 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

And she hour to hour. That's another thing. I didn't even stretch. I felt like if I had time to stretch. You would have gotten there early. We jumped straight in.

00:09:35 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:09:36 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 4:

Like, walked through the door, grabbed the straps. It's time to go.

00:09:39 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Interesting. Well, I got to tell you, I think you guys are awesome for doing it. You're better than I would be. I don't know, Shannon. I would never do it. But would you do this? Would you go with them next time?

00:09:49 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

I would love to go with them next time. Why wouldn't you go? We offered you twice.

00:09:53 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

Me?

00:09:53 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, I don't know.

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

I have stuff, but. Listen, I'm not going because the last time.

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 2:

00:10:32 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 2:

Justin Bieber made fun of, he made fun of Maria Menounos, the entertainment reporter's weird laugh.

00:11:44 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 4:

I like something she'd say. I like that laugh.

00:11:51 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Viola Davis starred in one of my favorite movies, The Help.

00:11:55 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Such a great one.

00:12:07 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 2:

I love it when she doodled in that lady pie. That was the greatest, wasn't it? That's the best. Wouldn't you like to do that to somebody that was as bad as that lady was? And I know Kevin and the girls are sexy and you know it, but this was the year that that band had another hit song. Party Rock Anthem was the big one.

00:12:27 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:13:51 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's going to do the dirty. We got a lot of stuff coming up this morning, including the 5 at 6.55, Five Lies Tell Your Mom, and Second Date Update. And what's going on, Shannon? Hello.

00:13:59 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're finally getting a little bit of confirmation from Justin Bieber that, yeah, there might be some marriage struggles happening with Haley, like lots of rumors for quite some time have been suggesting. Yesterday, he was online thanking Jesus for his patience in a new post where he admits once again that he, Justin, not Jesus, can be extremely selfish and impatient. Alongside some outdoor photos that he posted, he was reflecting on faith and growth and grace just days after releasing Swag, which also a lot of the lyrics in a lot of the songs touch on his personal struggles and relationships. so everybody's kind of reading into all of these posts that he's been making and even though no confirmation that something's going on it kind of seems like that's the case do you ever get to a

00:14:51 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

point where you like a song so much that that's all you're listening to and you keep hitting repeat

00:14:55 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

in your car this is the one right now for me where i can't get enough of it and get to a point where it's like over and over and over again so much that the app that i use which is uh i use apple music a lot for my music apple music has already put it in my most played songs and the song's only been out for a little bit like in my history of my most played songs what is that one called uh that's daisies such

00:15:24 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 5:

a good one. Happy Gilmore 2 had a massive debut on Netflix over the weekend. The sequel racking up 46.7 million complete viewings in its first three days, meaning people watched it all the way through, making it Netflix's biggest U.S. film debut ever. Adam Sandler's most watched Netflix release to date. And I knew this would happen too, but the original Happy Gilmore from 1996 also saw a pretty big resurgence. It ranked number three globally with 11 and a half million views over the weekend. Look what my

00:15:56 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 3:

friend Will bought yesterday. Wow. He bought the Happy Gilmore putter. Oh my gosh. So he paid $500 for this putter, okay? Which putters are expensive. They range right around, you know, $300, $400, $500. This putter right now is on eBay at this particular moment for no less than $1,000. Holy crap. The Happy putter. Is he going to sell it? I can't imagine him using it because I think it really is like a hockey stick, but I think that was the reason of buying it. But I'm always one of those people that when somebody says, oh yeah, it's worth this much, it's only worth that much if you get that much. You know what I mean? You can put anything you want on eBay, but if you can't get

00:16:36 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 5:

somebody to pay for it. I'm still trying to get my 20 grand for the Princess Diana Beanie Baby. Right. And I was told it was going to make me rich. Do you remember back in the day

00:16:44 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 3:

that was like the big deal? Oh yeah.

00:16:46 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 5:

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas, even though they're denying that anything's going on, I mean, there's something going on. They were photographed holding hands during a little getaway in Woodstock, Vermont, yesterday. And this follows months of speculation and photos of them together at concerts in London, all sorts of influencer events, premieres. They went on vacation together in Spain and in England. So, come on. They're also co-stars, by the way, in the upcoming thriller, Deeper. Hannah Montana debuted way back in 2006. and Miley Cyrus said she is planning a very, very special celebration to mark the show's 20th anniversary next year.

00:17:27 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 4:

It's about to be the 20th anniversary in March. That's insane. I know, trust me. I'm like, I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today. Really, without Hannah, there really wouldn't be this kind of, this me. It's so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed. And now that's something that when I walk into a space, it's looked at as this sense of kind of like nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood. But I've now been as kind of integrated into everyone's life as the character itself.

00:18:02 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 5:

I don't know what she's going to do. I know she now has the legal rights to perform her Hannah Montana songs again, which she did not have since the end of the show. So a lot of fans are speculating that it may be like a filmed concert of some sort where she's doing those songs.

00:18:15 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Wow, but will she have her dad be part of it because they kind of have their falling out?

00:18:20 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 2:

That relationship is interesting, yeah. We'll see. Is it big like that? Like people will watch a Hannah Montana musical film? Oh, my God, yeah. A musical film? Yeah. That's nostalgia at its finest right there. Lydia, were you a big Hannah Montana fan?

00:18:32 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 4:

Big time. I saw her in concert when she came here.

00:18:34 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 2:

So Miley Cyrus, 2026, performing Hannah Montana music in a live film is something you would be interested in?

00:18:41 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely, yeah, I'm there.

00:18:43 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 3:

So which one are you more into? Her, Selena Gomez, or what's her name? Hillary Duff. Well, was it Hillary Duff? Lizzie McGuire. That's good milk, right? What was the other one, too, that was on Nickelodeon?

00:18:55 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 5:

Are you thinking Demi Lovato? She was Disney. Ariana Grande?

00:18:58 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

No, the one that had black hair or whatever. What was it? Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba. A lot of people got black hair. Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba. No, no, no, no, no. The girl. Amanda Cosgrove show. What was her?

00:19:08 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Miranda Cosgrove?

00:19:09 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Miranda Cosgrove. iCarly. Yeah. iCarly. Which one was the biggest of all of them, Hannah?

00:19:14 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 5:

It was Hannah Montana. Yeah, she was number one.

00:19:17 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:19:17 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 5:

What is the largest drink size that you can get?

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

It's Starbucks.

00:25:02 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 3:

Three seconds. Benti?

00:25:05 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 2:

No. Both of you guys said that. It might be a trick question. The cold drinks. A Trenta is the one. And we got a new champion. One and done. Allison, congratulations to you.

00:25:21 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

00:25:22 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Very nice. Ty, I'm so bummed out by this. By the way, have you guys heard of the brand Seven Brew?

00:25:31 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 4:

You told me about Seven Brew.

00:25:33 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever been to a Seven Brew before, Allison?

00:25:36 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 1:

I have not.

00:25:38 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 2:

So there's Seven Brews popping up. Many people across the world are saying that that will be the demise of Starbucks. I have heard this numerous times from people. Somebody was telling me, my family lives in Naperville, Illinois, and my family was telling me that that place is mega packed all the time.

00:25:56 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 4:

So West Michigan has a few, Muskegon, Lansing, Holland. Okay. I don't think we have them in the Detroit area yet.

00:26:01 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 2:

What's the difference? So Seven Brew is coffee like Starbucks, but a lot of people are saying it's better coffee. And listen, this is not an endorsement from me because I love my Starbucks. I got Starbucks right here.

00:26:12 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 4:

Wait, do you have two?

00:26:13 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 2:

I did. I feel bad. So the Starbucks by me just opened up.

00:26:17 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:26:18 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 2:

Which, Lydia, I feel bad now. I think I'm going to have to do my Starbucks every morning now because I feel bad you carrying in these things. But I got a grande because I was out late last night. You only got a grande? No, but I have a trencher right there. I was trying to say, you're really acting different here. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I know.

00:26:32 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 1:

So you're getting your own coffee in the morning?

00:26:34 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 2:

I can get now your coffee, too, so you don't have to carry all the drinks in. I feel bad that I, since we moved to this building, I've been having Lydia do that. So, all right, Ty, we got a parting gift for you. We're going to set you up with a $50 Kroger gift card. Okay. And Allison, we'll see you tomorrow morning.

00:26:51 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 1:

Sounds good. Thank you, guys. Thank you.

00:26:53 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 2:

00:27:49 - 00:27:53 | Speaker 2:

A nice little gimmicky thing. That's cool. We love that. Hey, how's the coffee, though?

00:27:53 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 3:

It's a brand new company, too. I could not tell you.

00:27:56 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 2:

I could not tell you. Here's the deal. A lot of people are good at giving back, but if they got crappy stuff, I ain't going. I ain't going to go get it. I want the good stuff.

00:28:05 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 3:

From what I see online, they have a lot of variety of stuff. You can create different concoctions and everything, but I just like how they give back to the community.

00:28:14 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 2:

That's very nice. As I drink my Starbucks, who takes from the community? Drunk that like a bitch. Josh, I'm going to have to try it. I can't wait until it happens. I hear that some of the drinks that they're going to be coming up with are supposed to be pretty ooh. Oh, is it a little gurgle? They got an orange sherbet milkshake. A lot of, they say the kids love it. They're saying the kids are going to love Seven Brew. What's up, Valerie? How you doing?

00:28:43 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good. How are you?

00:28:44 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. Yeah.

00:28:46 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I saw the Dearborn Instagram page. There's a 7-brew opening on Southfield Road in Allen Park. Hey, I love that.

00:28:54 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 4:

Okay. On the way to my dad's.

00:28:57 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 2:

Here's the interesting thing with this. I like the idea that they are bringing in new stuff, but we still need to go out and get, what the hell is it? The burger place from California, from Los Angeles. In-N-Out. In-N-Out Burger. We'll never get that. Why have we not brought in an In-N-Out Burger?

00:29:13 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, let me tell you, when we get In-N-Out, we're not even going to go to In-N-Out.

00:29:16 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to go. It's like Cheesecake Factory.

00:29:18 - 00:29:20 | Speaker 4:

Let me see. What else do you want? It is kind of. I've gone one time.

00:29:21 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so here's my question then. We do this randomly, a little random survey. Yep. What's the franchise that you want to see brought here that's not here right now? Because remember, we all got excited and we wanted Raising Cane's. Well, now we got some Raising Cane's.

00:29:34 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 4:

I've still never had one.

00:29:35 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's the one that everybody goes crazy for. The Seven Brew is a new one. I want In-N-Out Burger. And I get excited over stuff like that. What is it that you want? I still want a Jack in the Box. Why? Because, so they have them, but we don't have any close to my house. I loved, when I lived in Arizona, Jack in the Box tacos were the greatest tacos, as crazy as it sounds. It's a burger place.

00:30:00 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 4:

Tacos were great. I've heard a lot about this place called Bojangles. So I've been to a Bojangles in Kentucky. It's fantastic. It is? Yeah.

00:30:07 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 3:

That's all I hear. Their chicken is mwah.

00:30:10 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 4:

Their sweet tea was the best. Sweet tea. Because I can't eat a lot of the chickens, but I love their sweet tea.

00:30:15 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 3:

This must be a Southern company.

00:30:16 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 4:

It is, I think. Yeah.

00:30:18 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 3:

I'm selling sweet tea.

00:30:19 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 4:

All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

00:30:25 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 3:

00:30:28 - 00:30:29 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:30:29 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mama.

00:30:31 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Jamie, what is it that your mom is notoriously known as?

00:30:38 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, having actions and going to the bathroom in public is what she's known for. I mean, she got to go. She does not care when, where, how, who. She's going.

00:30:51 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 4:

Wow. And where are some of the places that she's gone?

00:30:54 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 1:

00:31:52 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 3:

video of the poop-a-trader on Facebook. Lie number four. It kind of looks like you.

00:32:00 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 4:

And lie number five. And the police are involved and you could get arrested.

00:32:07 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 1:

Got it.

00:32:08 - 00:32:10 | Speaker 4:

Alright. Where are you right now?

00:32:11 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 1:

I work in a factory. Okay.

00:32:14 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 4:

What are we making?

00:32:16 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 1:

We're making headlamps and tail lamps for everything on the road.

00:32:20 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 4:

I love it. We love that. Thank you for keeping us well lit when we're driving to go find a place to go duty. Calling your mom up. Five lies. Tell your mom. Speak up nice and loud.

00:32:32 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hello? Mom? What's wrong? Mom, nothing's wrong. You got like five minutes to talk to me real quick?

00:32:52 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 2:

No. I'm at the f***ing work.

00:32:57 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was just wondering if you went to the campground this past weekend. No, I didn't. Why? Oh, yes, I did. Why? Oh, I guess there was a problem with the campground. They're closing it. The campground? They're closing it. I guess people have been pooping where they shouldn't. Yeah, they have a video on Facebook of the poof-a-traders. Oh, my God. Yeah, it kind of looks like you, Mom. Where? What? Where? At the campground. I guess they, on Facebook, it says that the police are involved. I don't want you to get arrested. Did you poop?

00:33:50 - 00:33:51 | Speaker 2:

I pooped in the toilet.

00:33:54 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm staying outside, Mom. They're not getting the police involved about that. That's okay. I had just seen it on Facebook, and I was concerned.

00:34:04 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 2:

Is this gamey?

00:34:06 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Mom, it's me. What are you?

00:34:10 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:34:12 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 1:

I was just on the page and seen it.

00:34:15 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:34:17 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't you.

00:34:19 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't me. Okay, good. Phew. Oh. You're at me.

00:34:26 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mom. What? Hi. I'm with Jamie right now. How are you doing?

00:34:32 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. What's wrong?

00:34:34 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 4:

Well, we're trying to figure out if it was you that's the poop-a-trader, and she's showing me some pictures here. I'm one of her coworkers here working on the line with her.

00:34:44 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I don't know who this is, and I don't know what you're doing. And I'm at work, and the only place I poop is in the bathroom.

00:34:50 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Jamie, do you want to tell her who this is?

00:34:54 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Mom, you just want a prize on the radio, Mom. You want a prize. I'm sorry. You'll be mad at me.

00:35:00 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 4:

All right, I'm at work, and I have a facility that I'm trying to operate at.

00:35:04 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sorry, Mom.

00:35:05 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 4:

Mom, what?

00:35:07 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 1:

Mom, it's Mojo in the morning, and your daughter had you on five lies to tell your mom.

00:35:11 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that just lovely? I'm sorry, but this is a serious job.

00:35:15 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 1:

I apologize. I know it is. We wanted to get you a prize. We didn't realize we were calling you while you were working.

00:35:22 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 4:

Okay, what's the prize that I supposedly won?

00:35:25 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 1:

A year's supply of toilet paper.

00:35:28 - 00:35:30 | Speaker 4:

Grand, that's great, because I love a lot.

00:35:30 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. We're going to get you a nice prize. Go out and have a great night out, okay? Build up some more evidence for us.

00:35:43 - 00:35:46 | Speaker 4:

I have 36 females here I'm trying to care for.

00:35:47 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. We apologize. Sorry, Mom. Your daughter told us you have a history of this, so.

00:35:53 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 4:

I told her she's right. I have no gallbladder, so.

00:35:57 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Okay. Well, it just, like, flows right out.

00:36:00 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:36:01 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 1:

You got kind of a shitty daughter, don't you?

00:36:04 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 4:

I do. But you know that she's inherited the same thing. Oh.

00:36:08 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 5:

Call her right out.

00:36:11 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 4:

My daughter does the same thing. She poops, too. And sometimes she poops in her pants. So that you could be on the radio. Yeah. It's Mojo in the Morning. 5 to me. 4 to 5.

00:36:26 - 00:36:26 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:36:27 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 5:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:36:30 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 1:

Text mom to 95500. We'll get you on a future five lies. All right. What do we need? What do we need? What do we need? What is the latest that we need around here, food-wise? Jenny, hi. What is it that we need?

00:36:47 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

We need a Whataburger here.

00:36:49 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 1:

Overrated. I've never had it.

00:36:52 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. What's so good about it?

00:36:54 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 1:

It's nothing good about it.

00:36:55 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the burgers, the pies. Oh, my gosh, I love it.

00:36:58 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 1:

The pies. Jenny, I've been to Whataburger a bajillion times when I lived in Arizona. It's awful. It's bad burgers. You do not need a Whataburger. You need an In-N-Out burger, Jenny.

00:37:09 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my brother used to live in California, and we had an In-N-Out. I think that's overrated. Really?

00:37:16 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you're not a fan. All right, so what is it? Do they make the burgers, you think, better than a quarter pounder with cheese? Because there's nothing better than a quarter pounder with cheese.

00:37:26 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm a Big Mac person, actually.

00:37:28 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I like it, too. But what does a water burger do? Is it special? Is it like the sauce? Is it Smash Burger? Yeah.

00:37:34 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 5:

What is it?

00:37:35 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 1:

No. It's like a regular burger.

00:37:36 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. It's regular. I'm like, right. It really is. All right.

00:37:40 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 1:

It's no thrills. I don't know. Hold on. Jacob's got a good one. Jacob, what do we need here?

00:37:48 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 2:

Saxby's Chicken. It's a southern... Yes. I've heard of it. I don't know how far out.

00:37:52 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 1:

When I go down to Tampa, there's one right by Joe's apartment. Zaxby's is good. Is it good? Luke likes it. See, I can't eat any of that stuff. See, I don't know if I would go that far. I don't see as many people at Zaxby's as I see at a Raising Cane's.

00:38:07 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Their sauce is a lot better.

00:38:08 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 1:

Is it? Yeah, Luke likes it. Luke's really into it. Kev, here's one for what you said. Mason, what do you want?

00:38:16 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Bojangles all day.

00:38:18 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 1:

Mason, talk to me. I keep hearing about Bojangles and how the chicken is so good.

00:38:23 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 2:

It's so good, and they use the same seasoning on their chicken as they do on their fries. And their sweet tea, I mean, I like their breakfast bow rounds, their hash browns, so good.

00:38:34 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's good stuff. I'm not a sweet tea guy. I'm more of a spike tea guy. Really? I didn't know you didn't like sweet tea, Shannon, because you lived in Atlanta, and that was like the big deal.

00:38:43 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 5:

You could get about a gallon outside of the gas station. No, for real. You know what? Speaking of living in Atlanta, I know we have a lot of great grocery stores here. and a shout out to our friends over at Kroger. But one thing I do kind of miss about living in Georgia is Publix grocery stores because of the subs that you could go get at lunchtime. They are so freaking good.

00:39:06 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 1:

I actually told Rachel over at Kroger they need to steal the pub sub concept. They do. What's it like? You go right up to the deli counter where you normally get your boar's head and they make you a sub.

00:39:16 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 5:

But they're like this thing. And they're huge. Oh my God, they're so good.

00:39:19 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Like, you'll see, like, the construction workers on down to the school teachers, to the mom with kids getting it. Speaking of gas stations, when you mentioned that, Brittany, what is it that you want here?

00:39:30 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 3:

I want Buc-ee's.

00:39:32 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Buc-ee's. Everybody want Buc-ee's. Yes. What is the deal with...

00:39:35 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 3:

I have never been.

00:39:36 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 1:

What is the deal with Buc-ee's sheets in... We're getting a bunch of sheets. People don't want them in their neighborhood, though. Why not? Why are people not into these gas stations that are open 24 hours? I'd love to have one of those close to my house. They say it brings the bad people around, but I got to be honest with you, the bad people will find you no matter what. Buc-ee's has become like a cultural phenomenon. No, I see so many people just with Bucky T-shirts on, like it's the latest fashion. Actually, you know what is better than Bucky's? What's the gas station out of the East Coast? Speedway. No. No, the ones. Love you, Mojo. Thank you. Love you. I appreciate it. What are you talking about? Gas stations. Marathon. No, no, no, no, no, no. No. Chill. No. Sheets? No, no, no, no, no. Why am I brain farting? BP. They have them down in Florida, And they have Wawa. Wawa. I have heard of Wawa's. Wawa's the deal. What's so good about Wawa? Wawa has milkshakes. They have also, I believe, subs and things like that, pizza, stuff like that.

00:40:42 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 2:

What was the place that you took us to? I don't know if it was either in Arizona when we took a show field trip or New Orleans. And you go through the drive-thru and you get alcoholic slushies.

00:40:53 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's only in New Orleans. It's New Orleans. It's drive-thru daiquiris.

00:40:57 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, drive-through daiquiris.

00:40:58 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't that be amazing? That's another level. It is. Can you believe it? Hold on. That sounded like COVID times. They did. Guys, pull up, get you a little alcohol. Madison, what's going on? What would you like to have here?

00:41:09 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 2:

We just got back from California last night, and we went to a place called Egg Slut, and it was so good. I've heard it is. Okay, they have it in Las Vegas as well. When we go to iHeart, the music festival, we'll have to try it. I have heard so many amazing things about Egg Slut.

00:41:24 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 1:

I love that they call it Egg Slut. Don't you love that? Is it one of those places that yell at you? No, they have, like, those. I don't, like, yeah. I thought Insla got a name. Yeah, like Cussage. What's up, Sal? What's better than Egg Slut?

00:41:39 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

I would say maybe a Waffle House.

00:41:41 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yes.

00:41:42 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 2:

West Virginia, but.

00:41:44 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 1:

Our Toledo listeners have it all the time. They get to have it whenever they want to, but I think Waffle House is great. There's nothing better than smothered and covered, you know? No wonder. And there's nothing better than a late night with a bunch of people at Waffle House that are fighting with each other. Bring it back. I love it. All right. So these are all good ideas. If you're listening and you have a lot of money, let's bring these things here. Can we do it? Like, you know, the problem, though, is these guys will come to town here. And like Shannon said, when Cheesecake Factory came to town, everybody got excited and nobody went. I mean, when people went.

00:42:23 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you do.

00:42:23 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 1:

We didn't go from the show.

00:42:25 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 2:

I was like, I'm going to go every weekend.

00:42:27 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And you know what it was? I think it was that it was so crowded that we didn't want to have to fight the crowds. And then I think what ends up happening to you is it kind of out of sight, out of mind. You're like, eh. But the menu is too big at Cheesecake Factory. That's what I hear. You go to Chicago. You've been to Harold's Chicken. So Harold's was something I grew up with. Okay. See, I'm not a big fried chicken guy, like churches or Popeyes or things like that. Yeah. But all the people that are in my family and stuff, like my sister Mary Jo and stuff, loved Harold's Chicken. You like catfish? You know, catfish on the crawfish, on the rye. No, I don't. What the hell are you talking about? You don't like catfish? Kool-Aid ladies. Catfish slap, bro. You don't know what I'm talking about with that? Never had it. What? Oh, catfish on the booger booger on the fishies on the rye. Okay. We got to get y'all some catfish, man. We need a place just for Kool-Aid lady. We'll call it Kool-Aid ladies, you know?

00:43:21 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 2:

As we're hitting the booger booger, I'm going to fix me a big jug of orange and orange juice Kool-Aid with some pineapple juice.

00:43:29 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 1:

So good. Yeah. We should have Kool-Aid lady get her own just Kool-Aid stand during the summertime. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Call us. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:43:46 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the morning.

00:43:48 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, Shannon had something kind of embarrassing happen to her yesterday.

00:43:52 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 2:

Kind of.

00:43:52 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 1:

What happened?

00:43:53 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. My credit card got declined at a place that I go to all the time, too. So, you know, I love my Premier Pet Supply. Support local. We love all of the locations of Premier Pet Supply.

00:44:07 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

And you do have 8,000 dogs at home.

00:44:09 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

This is true.

00:44:11 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 1:

For those that don't know, Shannon's not a dog owner. She's dog owners. I have three.

00:44:15 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

She's got a kennel. Three dogs. But still, Premier Pet Supply is having this big anniversary sale right now through the weekend. This is not an ad. They just are so run out and stock up because the deals are crazy. So that's an important part of the story because I'm with Lucy and Smith. We also brought the puppy, who's really not a puppy anymore. He's about to be two, but Beau. So we brought him into the store. And so I'm like, okay, it's 10% off all the dog food, 30% off everything else in the store. I'm getting everything I need. I got one of those big, huge bags of dog food. I got probably 20 bags of treats and toys and bones and all the things because, like, they don't do this all year. So the lady is ringing me up. It's a girl that I see.

00:45:00 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 1:

all the time because I go all the time the store is packed with people because the deals are great and she gives me my total which is kind of a lot because I have a lot of stuff and I tap my phone for my credit card that is the account that Wes and I share for it was a debit card actually but it's the account that Wes and I share for all of our household expenses and she looks at me and she goes oh it only took off 23 so you still owe you know whatever 160 and i'm like wait i'm thinking what just happened so i'm like oh there must have been a mistake because i know there's money in this account right i tap my phone again and she looks at me and she's like it got declined oh you guys i wanted to melt into the floor yes because again i'm a frequent customer there's people in line behind me. Lucy looks at me and she's like, what's wrong, mom? Are we poor? Do we not have money? And I'm like, well, I'm like thinking, oh my God, I know I have money in this account, but just to like negate the uncomfortableness of the situation, I tap my credit card so that I can just get my stuff and go. But I walked out of there and it's, I mean, it happens to everybody, right? It's happened to everybody before, but it's still, especially Especially somewhere where you go all the time, it's so embarrassing.

00:46:23 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 3:

Did you start freaking out thinking that maybe somebody got a hold of your account or anything?

00:46:27 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, there was $0.0 in this account. And I called Wes and I'm like, what the heck are you buying? And apparently what had happened was his, it's a long story, but all of his Amazon purchases got sent to, he was using, tapping that card instead of the other, you know, or using that card instead of the other card. So it was, yeah.

00:46:45 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, by the way, that person at Premier's Pet Supplies is nice because I have been to places before, and I won't say because they're an advertiser, where the woman's like, it's declined. Do you have another one? Like, they'll do it like that.

00:46:58 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

No, and she said it so nicely, too.

00:47:00 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 3:

It happened to a lady that I ended up paying for her groceries, and I'm like, this poor woman, you can't do that. You got another card? And have you ever been in a line where somebody has, like, a bunch of them, and they're trying them, and they're not working? And you feel, you feel awful. And listen, I mean, we've all had financial, you know, struggles at time or another or now. And, um, so I'm like, no, no, no, let me, uh, let me take care of it. And then I did it and whatever. And the woman gross bags of groceries up and, you know, in heads off. And the woman goes, she does that all the time. I'm like, Oh my God, did I get scammed?

00:47:38 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 1:

That's why the lady was so kind of like it's you start. I started, I could feel myself sweating. And then I'm like making, I'm like, I know there's money in that account. You're making the excuse out loud, right?

00:47:50 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 2:

That happened to me a couple times. Really? I'm talking about it happened to me. And first off, they need, speaking of grocery stores, they need to change the way it sounds when they accept your card. Because it sounds like it's got decline. It go like, eh-eh. Yeah. Like, it's like this negative tone where I'm like, hold on a second. It does say approve. Okay, we good. I remember one time I was at the movies.

00:48:11 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 3:

They need to make it a.

00:48:12 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

yeah you did that type of sound it's totally wrong i was at the movies one time somebody had recognized me dog i go to pay i'm like so you recognize me in line or whatever i'm like yeah how you doing i asked for a picture like i leave i had to come back to get something else and it was finally his turn to check out he's with his girl i'm like man let me pay for that for y'all When I said I'm with the tap And she's like I'm like stop playing Tap again Finally he was like it's okay I'm like oh my god I'm playing with like gritting on tea

00:48:50 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 3:

The sound that goes with that is

00:48:53 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm like you know how it is Sometimes I'm a big player Something's wrong with the tap

00:49:01 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 3:

My favorite is Well this is weird Do you ever go to a strip club But I've seen at strip clubs, they have ATMs. You ever see a guy fight in an ATM at a strip club? I mean, literally, I've seen that before at a strip club. Guys trying to take money out, or casinos, this happens too. The casino is a guy, and you feel like you want to go over to the guy and go, listen.

00:49:26 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 1:

It's time to go ahead. 1-800-GAMBLER.

00:49:28 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 3:

1-800-GAMBLER. Go home to your wife. Call that number right now. Got to figure that thing out. So did everything got rectified? Everything was fine.

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 1:

The dogs have been fed. There's money in that account.

00:49:41 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

You know, actually, we need in the arms of the angels for just $5. You could feed Shannon's 28,000 dogs that aren't going to be fed today. Kenny, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you? Have you?

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 7:

had a card declined before like that no i did not mojo uh good morning everybody

00:50:05 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 1:

so i was at uh i can say the name of the merchant can i sure i was at lowe's all right big old thing full of one of those carts full of uh monks i'm in line a bunch of people behind me and I had about $300 bills. So I gave him a $100 bill, and he ran it to the machine. It passed once, but the second time it didn't pass. Everybody stayed up behind me. So here you go. I got another $100 bill. Same thing. Let's try this one. So now they want to get the manager and verify it. I'm like, look, the line is getting long. Oh, no. Yeah, exactly. So I pulled out a credit card. Where did you get counterfeit money?

00:50:51 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 7:

Where did that come from?

00:50:52 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 1:

But the money wasn't counterfeit. I had this DJ to party. Yeah, I had this DJ to party about a week ago.

00:50:59 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 7:

How did they think it was counterfeit then?

00:51:01 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 1:

They ran into the machine.

00:51:03 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, and the machine was wrong.

00:51:04 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 1:

They just don't market. Yeah, the machine. Yeah.

00:51:07 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 7:

Whenever they do that pen thing with the thing, I'm always like praying. I don't, like it comes back.

00:51:12 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 6:

They don't hold it up to the light anymore.

00:51:14 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 7:

They used to. No, no. You go to the dollar stores now, they say people are passing more counterfeit stuff there all the time. What's up, Jennifer? Hi.

00:51:22 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 5:

hey good morning guys good morning uh so i was at aldi like two weeks ago and i go to self-checkout and i'm do the self-checkout scan everything la-di-da i go to tap my card to pay and it declined and i'm like what i thought i had more money than this like i only use it for groceries so i tap it again and it's declined i was like no this there's something wrong with this machine not me yeah right and i tap it i tap it a third time and it was a client and i'm like oh man so i go and i run to the app real quick and i look and i only had like forty dollars so i had to go walk over to the cashier at the one lane that was open and i was like can you cancel my order and can you bring it up here because there the cashier was taking cash and credit so i had cash so i was like can i just do half cash half credit here but can you just like take that off from the u scan over there i felt horrible it was so bad i know and you know what

00:52:30 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 7:

it's the worst feeling you have this feeling like honestly like everybody's giving you dirty eyes

00:52:34 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 3:

what's up holly hi hey good morning guys morning so i started to prepay at the pump yesterday and apparently you have to have a hundred dollars in your account to prepay at that

00:52:45 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 7:

That is the dumbest thing ever. What is that? They hold on, and then the worst is...

00:52:49 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 3:

I have $90. I drive a Honda Civic. I needed, like, $20 in gas.

00:52:52 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 7:

Holly, the worst is they hold on to that $100 for a little bit, and if you've got a debit and you need other stuff, that needs to...

00:53:01 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

That is a wild...

00:53:01 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 7:

Michigan needs to stop that, and there needs to be a law against that. Can you explain what you're saying? So they hold $100 on your debit card, off your debit card, no matter what you're pumping as far as gas is concerned?

00:53:12 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 3:

Like, you'll see that charge go through for $100.

00:53:14 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 7:

And then it will be reimbursed to you and then they'll just charge you for what you want. But a lot of times it doesn't go back if you have certain banks fast enough. So some people get negative in their accounts and they need to stop. That needs to honestly be a law that they need to change because they supposedly say that there are people that that scam them. But the problem is when you're using your debit card, it should just take whatever it is at the end. They think that you're going to gas and go out of there. And they think they don't know how much money you're going to put gas-wise inside the tank until you fill it up. What's up, Jody? Hi.

00:53:47 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 4:

Morning, guys.

00:53:48 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

00:53:49 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

So I went into this gas station, and I kept using the card. It kept declining, declining. By the fourth time, I'm like, all right, something's up. So I walked away, step aside, and I had forgotten that I was holding on to my daughter's card, which looked exactly like mine. Oh, no. Yeah. So I'm like, oh, thank God. She would have told me if they would have, like, blocked the card from being able to be used.

00:54:12 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 7:

Oh, gosh.

00:54:13 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 4:

You know, someone's trying to.

00:54:15 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 7:

Right, right. I'm sorry. By the way, you are banging away on that plant, aren't you, right now?

00:54:22 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 4:

I am.

00:54:23 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 7:

I'm trying to catch myself up. I love it. Let's make whatever you're making. Make America great again right there.

00:54:30 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 6:

You know what's another uncomfortable situation? When you don't know how much money you have in your account, right? but you think you got enough to buy what you want to buy, and then you go into a store with terrible Wi-Fi, so you can't even pull up the app to check your ballots, bruh, you get to the line praying like, I swear to God. That's Jesus telling me I don't need that, whatever I'm trying to buy. I need it.

00:54:50 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 7:

Kaitlin, this happened to you yesterday. What happened to Shannon? Your card got declined. What were you buying?

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was with my son getting him football.

00:55:00 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 1:

at Dick's and he wanted Crocs too and we got we're at the checkout line and we're using my husband's credit card and it was declined so luckily I had my bank card and I was able to pay for it but my son instantly was like his dad broke yeah I know that was Lucy

00:55:15 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 6:

what's happening Dustin what happened

00:55:21 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 3:

alright so I was literally going to go shop and I just came back from Vegas and when I came back I like got like two three hundred dollars worth of groceries i'm in line ready to make a purchase and people behind me and i wasn't at self-checkout so i ended up making a purchase they declined it i was like wait a minute i know i know i didn't spend on like come on i ain't broke like that so i was like okay so i ended up trying to swipe again they said no still decline i had to call my bank because they thought i was still in vegas so they thought it was like yeah oh you you and i was so embarrassed man i just left the stove i was like you know what just to get it i'm not even hungry i'm not even hungry no more i'm gonna have to stop shannon you leave the stove

00:56:06 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 6:

man i was i was sick i was i ain't going to not stall no more by the way you know what i think

00:56:15 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 3:

i might have been the last time i've been there too i like never went back can i tell you my thing

00:56:21 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 6:

We'll see, or actually Ford Field. Two shows. Yeah, get it right. This is in August, coming up here next week, so your chance to win. 844-MOJO-LIVE

00:57:37 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 3:

It's August next week. What

00:57:42 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 6:

is happening? It's August in like a day, isn't it? Or a couple days? It's nuts.

00:57:46 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes. What's going on? Okay, the story that everybody wants, all of the details about this morning katy perry and former canadian prime minister justin trudeau what is happening are they an item they were spotted in doing dinner together at a fancy restaurant called love island in montreal cocktails they shared some meals like lobster and lamb gnocchi they took a little walk at mount royal park beforehand they were described by staff at the restaurant is very friendly, respectful, no public displays of romance, although they did wrap up their evening with a cozy drink on the terrace. Justin Trudeau paid in case you were curious, because I was kind of curious. But this outing is sparking lots of speculation as both are newly single. Katie ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom last month. Justin Trudeau split from his wife, Sophie, back in 2023.

00:58:45 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 6:

So, I mean, it's possible.

00:58:48 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 2:

Pop star and the prime minister. Got a ring to it. And remember, it wasn't just a walk. It wasn't just a dinner. It wasn't just drinks on the balcony. It was all three.

00:59:00 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 4:

And this isn't the biggest thing to point out about this story, but one thing that catches my ear that I don't like, why is the staff being interviewed? And why are they speaking? Talking about how their interactions were. If I heard that, I'm calling like I'm never going there again.

00:59:15 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Katie in Canada is part of her tour. It wasn't like she just randomly went there, but she's in town Sunday night in Detroit. Do you like this pairing of the two?

00:59:25 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 6:

Do you think it's a good one?

00:59:27 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't really care, but sure. I mean, yeah.

00:59:32 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 6:

His, like, swagger kind of faded a little bit. Like, he was, remember, the hottest guy in the world. Everybody went crazy.

00:59:39 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, then he had a blackface scandal. And then he had a few scandals. He did? Oh, yeah.

00:59:42 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 6:

We don't like him, Dan. Well, and to be honest with you, he kind of lost his looks a little bit. I know it's weird.

00:59:48 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you.

00:59:49 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

He was like really a handsome guy when he first came on the scene. And now I kind of look at him and honestly, maybe it's the whole thing that everybody thinks he's Fidel Castro's son.

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 7:

He looks like Fidel Castro.

01:00:02 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 5:

You know what he need?

01:00:03 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 7:

Botox. I got a place for him. I'll talk about that in a second.

01:00:08 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 5:

President Trump said yesterday that Jeffrey Epstein, quote unquote, stole young women who worked at the spa at his Mar-a-Lago golf club. And one of the women he acknowledged was the late Virginia Dufri, who was among Epstein's most well-known sex trafficking accusers. She took her own life just a couple of months ago.

01:00:27 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 3:

In the spa. In the spa, yeah. People that work in the spa, I have a great spa, one of the best spas in the world at Mar-a-Lago. And people were taken out of the spa, hired by him. In other words, gone. And other people would come and complain, this guy is taking people from the spa. I didn't know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, listen, we don't want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa. I don't want him taking people. And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, out of here.

01:01:01 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 6:

Mr. President, did one of those stolen, you know, persons that include Virginia Jeffrey?

01:01:10 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I think she worked at the spa.

01:01:13 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Virginia had long claimed that it was Ghislaine Maxwell who spotted her working at the spa back in 2000 when she was just like 15, 16 years old, hired her as Epstein's private masseuse, which led to years of sexual abuse. And this tsunami, tsunami waves reached Hawaii and the West Coast after one of the strongest earthquakes in recorded history. A magnitude 8.8 earthquake that struck in Russia yesterday and triggered alerts across the Pacific, Alaska and the entire U.S. West Coast.

01:01:50 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 2:

Overnight, millions along the Pacific bracing after one of the largest earthquakes in recorded history struck off the coast of Russia. just before 7.30 p.m. Eastern time, an 8.8 magnitude earthquake striking 85 miles off the east coast of Russia. The quake prompting tsunami alerts in more than 20 countries, prompting countless coastal residents to seek higher ground. Russia, the first to feel the effects of the quake. Shaking seen in the Kamchatka Peninsula, people running for cover as ceiling panels fell down at an airport. This kindergarten heavily damaged, but luckily no injuries reported. And then the water began to rush in. Video shows a coastal city being inundated. This video circulating online shows the rushing waters carrying buildings away in Hawaii. Cars filling the streets of Honolulu as residents fled to higher ground. We're under a full tsunami alert here. If you're in a low-lying area, get yourself safe. Get to higher ground. Everyone evacuate the beach. Hawaii's famous beaches evacuated. Lifeguards telling people to leave immediately some hotels on the islands telling guests to move to higher floors others evacuating completely has the state brace for waves up to 10 feet 10 foot surf wave

01:03:04 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 1:

it's good for surfers but a 10 foot tsunami is quite different because what that means is it's like all of sea level will rise uh by 10 feet above normal i mean that's oh that's huge

01:03:16 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 7:

they say that they were telling people to go to 10 story or plus buildings and be at least four flights up or floors up. Now, I think they got an all clear in Hawaii.

01:03:28 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 5:

So around midnight last night, authorities announced that it had been downgraded to an advisory, thank goodness. But still, the waves were crazy. I do know that Oprah was trending last night because she ended up opening her private road in Hawaii, in Maui, Hawaii, to help residents get up country to higher ground and be safer.

01:03:46 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 7:

But yeah. Scary. I mean, we all remember that other tsunami that hit, That was, gosh, what was it, 2011 or something like that? It was just scary, scary stuff.

01:03:56 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 6:

Shout out my girl Michelle, who works across the street at the meat market, who I talk to every single morning. She loves the show. She's got a cruise that she's going to Alaska on Sunday. Oh, boy. So hopefully that's okay and she's safe.

01:04:08 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, be safe.

01:04:09 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 6:

Love you if you listen.

01:06:04 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 2:

Boy, there is such a difference between Facebook, or as I like to call it, the Facebook.

01:06:12 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 3:

I got 90 friends on Facebook. 12 of them are pending, but I got 90 friends.

01:06:16 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

And Instagram.

01:06:17 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 3:

You're about to get 20 likes on Insta.

01:06:20 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 2:

There is such a difference between the two because you can see it with just a singular post. that we might put up on our social media. The people that are on Instagram seem like they're maybe a little bit younger. I don't know. Also, maybe tend to be a little bit happier. The people on Facebook, and this is not everybody, just a select few, who seem like they are just angry and upset.

01:06:51 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 1:

So true.

01:06:52 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 2:

And listen, I'm not going to judge because I'll be quite honest with you. every now and again, I'm angry and in a bad place. And then maybe I go to the Facebook and that's when I actually have my mood get worse. But so yesterday I posted, yesterday was my day to post. Bianca gave me my day to post and I was trying to figure out what I was going to post. And yesterday my day consisted of doctor's visits and I figured, you know what? I was either going to post my physical therapy rehab, which is very difficult for me to take pictures of because I'm actually using my arms during it, or I was going to post me going and getting a Botox treatment, which this might be a little odd to people, but I'm a grown man that goes and gets Botox.

01:07:41 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Lots of guys do. Well, good for you for admitting that.

01:07:43 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Not according to the Facebook. Not according to the Facebook.

01:07:46 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

What did they say on Facebook?

01:07:47 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I will say this to you. Let me tell you, if you want to see something interesting, go to our Facebook post from yesterday of Jessica Christie from Beauty Culture giving me Botox, okay? And then just look at what people write on that. And it's very interesting what people will write. First off, they were commenting on Jessica, which, by the way, in all fairness to Jessica, she actually wanted to say she just had a treatment done literally right before she did mine. So she did a treatment on herself. After you get a treatment done, you definitely don't look normal. It has to set in for a little bit. But there were some people that made comments like Christy. Should I say last names or no? Are you getting shot up? No, don't say it. Or yes. No, no. Just say Christy. Christy. Christy. Looks like Jessica had a bit too much work done, LOL. And then I'm looking at the profile because I want to see what they're like. And, you know, I'm looking at Christy going, hey, okay, Christy. But, you know, let's not judge people based on their looks, okay? Then I go and I look at this one. This was one about me. This is from Janice R., okay? I won't say your last name, Janice, although it ends with a ski. It says, I think I would be more concerned about my weight, exclamation point. Yeah. What? And then I go to the profile. So this is that. That's the post right there, okay? That's the post for everybody that can see it. Here's what the profile is of Janice. Janice isn't out of Janice because every profile picture is this. Janice, you're rude. Do you see what Janice looks like? It's probably her husband. Janice looks like a chubby man that's bald with a big old bushy mustache. All right, so thank you to Janice, which, by the way, Janice, you know, listen, I am trying to work on my weight. I'm doing shots for that, too. I'm willing to take anything in my system right now to make me feel good. Then the next one here is from Wanda. Good old Wanda. uh she's definitely overworked uh and then the next one here is from biggie biggie shot oh my god these are so mean this is on facebook this is biggie shot man's 50 pounds overweight comma but

01:10:00 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 5:

worried about a wrinkle with a with a that look what biggie shots profile is biggie shot lives in commerce townships got one friend and his name is peter prokowski or something like that that's it that's all that's all biggie's got and biggie's profile is a seven-up vending machine okay thank you biggie by the way you're absolutely right i actually be quite honest with you i think i'm about 46 pounds overweight not 50 pounds uh this one is oh this is a nice one this is from uh i'm gonna say your name trisha lynn thank you trisha lynn for saying get that tox haters gonna hate do what you want to your face uh people are so damn judgmental gosh exclamation point thank you thank you trisha we appreciate you then go to i want you to go to instagram and then look at the look at the gram and go look and see what people write on the gram it is so different the conversations that people will say or the comments that people say first off people are more likely on instagram to just like heart the thing and move on and move on or just view the the which by the way the video look at the views on that sucker that video yesterday got 85 000 85.8 k on that is that unbelievable did you see by the way the the cedar point one yesterday that uh we posted from our listeners at cedar point that were in the flood 1.7 million insane that was amazing but let's go back to mine uh the the the one with uh jessica giving me uh the the botox look at the nice comments that people are saying logan landon you look great mojo So, and this one is from Just Manellory. I don't know how these, just, just, just, she writes, you went to the best with the best in all caps in, you know, exclamation points and hearts and stuff. My, my, Brenda Blinn, thank you to Brenda. Brenda Blinn says, looking good, Tom. This one here is from Shans Salami or something like that. Shans Salami. It says, best med spa. It was nice. Agnes Pelosi. We always got one of them. LOL, Mr. Vain. I'll take that one. That's better than what people said about me being 50 pounds overweight. That's not even that mean, but, yeah. I mean, the 50 pounds overweight ones, I'm reading some of these ones. I'm like going, boy, these people just hate me.

01:12:41 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 2:

I am very rarely on Facebook. Instagram is my happy place, always.

01:12:45 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't have a Facebook.

01:12:46 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 5:

You don't have a Facebook? Nah.

01:12:48 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm contemplating this.

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 4:

They were on there cooking you, though.

01:12:51 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 5:

You loved it.

01:12:52 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm just listening right now.

01:12:55 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 5:

No, no. Are you one of these people and you're just not telling me? No.

01:12:58 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm not with the whole, you know, but love yourself and do what you want to do, but I'm not about to, like, go crazy on you. That's your life. You want to shoot your face up? You know, by all means.

01:13:09 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 5:

I couldn't find this one, but I wanted to go back and find it. Somebody said in there, there's like, Kev, you got to get some control of that man. That was what somebody said. My man going to live his life. Why do you do it, though? Why did you get Botox? Because it makes me look a little younger. I get scrunchy face.

01:13:26 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 2:

If you don't overdo it, it looks really good.

01:13:27 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 5:

I honestly, I will say this to you. I think I look pretty good for my age. I'm 95, and look at how, I mean, I don't look any older than a 55-year-old man. What's up? I've got to tell a Versace.

01:13:41 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 3:

carol what's going on carol hey what's going on hey carol i just want to let you guys know that the people on facebook are that are crabby it's because they're not getting laid oh i wish that the people would call us up because i'm going to be quite honest with you if the

01:14:07 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 5:

People would call us up and do it. It'd be entertaining radio. Like, I wish the guy that says, you know, hey, you fat ass going to get, you know, Botox. Wait, what do you say? Fat boy.

01:14:17 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 4:

He says he wears over 50 pounds, worry about a wrinkle. Yeah. That's what he said.

01:14:20 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. You got jelly in your belly, you little fat.

01:14:23 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 2:

To post that comment with your photo and your name and your place of work right next to it, I don't understand. That was a fake profile.

01:14:31 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 4:

It had to be a fake one. One follower, the profile picture, you said it was a vending machine.

01:14:35 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 2:

But the rest of them aren't, and it's all that information right there.

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 5:

Angie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:14:42 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Mojo, don't worry about these negative people. Honestly, you do you, and ignore the rest, because I went to get Botox, what, last week? Yeah. And I know it takes a while to set in, like two weeks or whatever, but it makes a difference. It makes you feel...

01:15:00 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 2:

You know what's going to happen? In about two weeks, the Botox that Jessica gave me is going to make me look like a skinny person. Two weeks, you're going to be back in there.

01:15:11 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 4:

You know what? No, I'm saying you look like you did yesterday.

01:15:14 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what I want?

01:15:15 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 4:

You look like you did yesterday.

01:15:16 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

I want to do an on-air endorsement. I want Jessica to advertise beauty culture, and I want to do her endorsement, but I don't think she would pick me to do it. She would pick somebody that was beautiful. You know what I mean? Like, I should be the before face of people. Pick my wife. My wife looks great. What's going on, Jordan? How you doing?

01:15:37 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you?

01:15:38 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on? People on Facebook think I'm a fat ass.

01:15:43 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, people are bold online, and I'm loving this. Like, bring the shame back. We should be shaming these people for posting this stuff.

01:15:52 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:15:52 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy.

01:15:53 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't necessarily want to, like, shame them as much as I want to know where they live so I can put things in their tailpipes of their car. You know what? What's funny is the people that will say, I can't believe you're doing that to your face. Why were you doing that? I'm fine with that. That's your opinion on that. But the people that have to go downright mean. Get that fatty some mudflaps for his ass.

01:16:19 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 3:

Big old jiggly fatty butt.

01:16:23 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Angela. What's going on?

01:16:25 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. I am here for the call outs with the names, hold people accountable because BS comments are, I'm so over it.

01:16:34 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 6:

I mean, just go, go on Facebook and you can see their full name. Do people do this? I just know we got to be careful.

01:16:39 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 2:

Like when you post a picture of your kids for the first day of school, you know, with the thing going, do people ever go, that little kid's an ugly son of a bitch. You know what I mean? Are they that mean? Or is it just us? No. Because we're in radio and stuff. People get so crazy. People go crazy. crew po is it crew po or crew pal crew pa crew pa hi crew pa hi first of all my husband and i

01:17:04 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 7:

believe that do whatever makes you happy and we do whatever we need if that includes botox to any other kind of procedures but um i own body 20 in west bloomfield and all of the posts that i have on instagram beautiful likes comments questions i had a workout video it was also on facebook and i mean my favorite comment is looks boring no shame yeah and so i spent 10 minutes going through this lady's profile i was so angry sent it to family members they were they wanted to make up a fake fake facebook account just to go and like attack her because she really looked crazy

01:17:46 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I don't ever want to judge another person, but there's a couple of people that judged me, and more importantly, Judge Jessica, who, by the way, has a huge amount of followers and does very, very well. And the people I'm looking at, I'm going, hey, you ain't so hot. But you know what? I don't want to do that, because you know why I don't want to do it, Kripal? Because I do it on the radio. I'm doing it right now. Mike. Mike, what's up?

01:18:17 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up? Hey, Mojo, I was saying you should just do the trifecta and get your lashes done and get a BBL. He said no stuff.

01:18:26 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 5:

Some lips, some lip injections. Can I tell you? No, I'm just kidding. No, no, no. Do it tomorrow.

01:18:31 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 2:

01:20:05 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 2:

very very sweet yeah it's got to be so happy for them amazing for both of them because lucy was

01:20:10 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 3:

how old when smith was three when smith was born so she probably doesn't i got i got to see her be a big sister yeah but not like now she's 11 and she like gets it i don't think she got it when she was three and smith you know forever the baby and he's still the baby in my house but now he's not the baby at dad's house so it's kind of interesting and fun to see him be a big brother um that's cool but yeah it's it is such an interesting thing to see and if you're divorced and you this has happened to you know your ex continues creating family and so your kids now have new siblings and I have this fear I've had this like pit in my stomach for the past two days of I feel like they're not going to want to be at my house for the next you know however long because how exciting is it to be with your new baby sister yeah do you know what I mean and they've been going to the hospital for the past two days which I love and spending time with her um but even today Luce was like was is already asking me on text like when do I get to go see her and I'm like I don't I don't know what their schedule is like I don't know what their schedule is today and yes and this is their week to be with me but i don't know if that's like a fear that only i have or if that's very normal that yeah i'm like oh i i said to west last night i'm like i just i hope that they still like being at our house i don't know i they will there's nothing

01:21:40 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 2:

more exciting than a baby how was it nothing how is it for you um seeing uh seeing a new baby uh amongst the family and seeing, uh, your ex-husband have a new baby?

01:21:52 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Um, I mean, it's definitely, I'm truly, and I mean this with all my heart, I am so, so happy for them, but it is kind of strange, you know, it's, it's just, it's changed.

01:22:02 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Was, was it strange when you found out like she was pregnant? Um, maybe a little. Yeah. Cause I'm trying to wonder like, it's, it's one thing to like get the news of like, we're having a baby. It's another thing I'm sure to have it actually be here.

01:22:14 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 3:

For sure. and also just now we we and the kids are at such different stages in the households right like on dad's side there's a new baby on mom's side you've got a sibling going to college yeah so we've got like total opposite ends of the spectrum happening for them let me ask you this question do you ever

01:22:34 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 2:

talk to your dad about stuff like this because of this your day wasn't your dad in the same boat when your mom and dad got divorced, didn't your mom have another... So did my dad. Your dad had another child, huh? Really? I didn't know that. I never knew that.

01:22:48 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I have a half-sister who lives in Ohio, and she's wonderful. I just, we don't see each other because she has a family and she lives in Ohio. Okay, so you... I actually saw her, you met her over the weekend, Kevin, at the family reunion.

01:22:57 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when each of your parents were having kids with others?

01:23:02 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, I was six, seven years old when that was the case, so...

01:23:08 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 2:

So how were you feeling? Cause it's funny, you know, you're talking about how excited the kids are. Sometimes you wonder, are the kids going to get, you know, worried about that? Or the kids like, like when we had Luke, we were so worried about Jacob because Jacob was going from being the baby to now the middle child. And we worried that he was going to get freaked out by that. And I'll never forget St. Joe's hospital, Pontiac, Michigan, shout out to them. Like Kevin says, and Jacob came to see his little baby brother for the first time. and he looked up at Chelsea and he was holding and we were so worried because we always concern ourselves with Jacob for some reason. We always worry that he's feeling because he had a big brother and all this stuff and he looks up and he goes, I'm so happy. Honestly, we were bawling. Both of us were bawling because we were so happy to see that. Of course, that only lasted for about six months and then he was like, I hate the little pain in the ass.

01:24:00 - 01:24:05 | Speaker 3:

Right now, they're both just enthralled with her. That's cool.

01:24:06 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The dynamics when they change. And, you know, we've got all kinds on this show. You know what I mean? We've got a single dad on the show. We've got Shannon divorced, remarried, and, you know, new families. Got Chelsea and I have been together for eons. You know what I mean? And, you know, with the kids. I think that's the beauty is we make up pretty much what our listeners are made up. And I know there are people that have been in Shannon's boat. either you were the one that had the child in the next marriage or you were the one that watched somebody have the child any advice you know any good advice for uh for shannon with uh with this i'm so happy for andrew i i reached out to andrew about two weeks ago or three weeks ago on something that i saw on uh his uh his social and he jokingly goes he goes i'm now going to be an older dad and I said to him, I go, you're still young.

01:25:00 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 3:

first off but also you you know this is going to be such a cool thing to be able to to do it because i will say this we had joe and then 10 years later we got surprise pregnant with luke yeah and it was honestly like the coolest surprise ever that all of a sudden you get another chance at dead doing it all over again yeah yeah so this is wild yeah um kev you need to not have

01:25:23 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 2:

baby no i'm straight i'm straight i'm good but i do think i do think like you know sometimes when you leave a relationship and then like josiah's mom like i remember kind of initially hearing that she was seeing other guys and even though i felt like i was over her it was still that moment of like damn like you seeing other guys type of thing yeah i couldn't imagine her getting pregnant though you know what I mean like that's a whole different world it's definitely a feeling yeah for sure um

01:25:59 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 3:

I uh I think that the coolest thing was the other day because the baby was born on what is it Monday I believe yeah the coolest thing was hearing Lucy on FaceTime with you after the show and her talking about how excited she was yeah like that to me was was awesome like that's such a cool thing and I always believe this with your kids you kind of let them kind of play their their part and kind of guide guide you and and the stuff and when you see all you want in life is your children to be happy absolutely and I'm going to tell you this I you know I used to always you know sit there and say to myself like god I want to be a basketball player you know any of this stuff and it's funny because your desire to be Michael Jordan was kind of like oh this is my you know thing no now my desire is I want to be the best dad I can be and then see my parenting lead them to hopefully go on and then start their own families like we're going to probably experience this soon and when you see your kid happy yeah that's all that matters I mean it's way better

01:27:08 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 4:

than any feeling you like it's it's better than sex yeah well i know i'm telling you it's very close right yeah and that's why like i am welcoming any like they want to go to the hospital they go they want to show me pictures i i love seeing pictures they want to talk about her i mean definitely it's not easy but that that's where they are that's where their little hearts are now

01:27:29 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 3:

and so wes and i are just welcoming all of it have you taken them out to go buy gifts a gift

01:27:34 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 4:

for the baby no so i actually was going to do that with lou and then we were in this store and she's like oh she's she has 56 books she's never going to read she has so many clothes you don't know what to do so i'm like i don't i don't like is that weird i think it's great i don't know

01:27:48 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 3:

is that strange but i think make it from them and not oh for sure i would like i honestly i think that you that hey get get the baby something that you will remember as what's your first gift from a from a baby because i yeah i just think that's a good idea remember that actually chelsea was was brought that up to me the other day and goes goes i um you know because you'll feel weird doing it because you don't want them to like i hate to say this but you don't want them to feel like you're giving your gift whatever but it's wrong it's the kids i don't know you know sometimes i

01:28:19 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 2:

don't know but i'm saying like what's wrong with shannon getting a baby from me getting a baby gift from shannon yeah yeah ain't no wrong then get then get them a gift from you too but i think

01:28:28 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 3:

is special when it's the it's your sibling like i took the boys to go buy gifts for their like joe joe got a gift for jacob and jacob and joe got gifts for luke so you both i didn't buy a gift from them i'm like hey you know my gift is i'm gonna get them college one day in the future

01:28:44 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 1:

what's up jennifer hi hi how are you good what's going on um so i've kind of had that same kind of situation um i was a young i was a young mother and so i had a daughter um with my ex-husband and you know we separated we got a divorce and it wasn't until 10 years later that we started having children with our new you know spouses yeah and so my daughter was almost 11 years old before she had any siblings and within five years she had five siblings it was wow who had the

01:29:19 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 3:

babies first you were or the dad i did i did and how how was it for him how how did he react to

01:29:26 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 1:

that i think he was fine um i think because they were trying in their own world you know to you know to extend their family yeah so it was just it was a huge adjustment for her um but i'm pretty sure it's permanent birth control because she's in her 30s now and has no desire to have children She had nowhere to go have peace.

01:29:47 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 3:

Because, yeah, there were so many kids. Shannon, does that?

01:29:50 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

That's also what worries me. You talking about having peace is it's going to be so busy and fun over at dad's house. And our house is so quiet. It's so quiet.

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 1:

These are all of the things that go through my head with this, you know?

01:30:03 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever wish now that you guys, you and Wes had another baby? No. No?

01:30:10 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 1:

I love babies, but I, we are good.

01:30:14 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:30:14 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're good.

01:30:15 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 5:

Because baby fever usually starts when you start seeing other babies. For sure. Yeah. I mean, listen, we saw.

01:30:20 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

And I love a snuggly baby, but that season of my life is no longer.

01:30:25 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Lacey. It's Mojo in the morning.

01:30:28 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

01:30:29 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 5:

Great. What's going on?

01:30:31 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 3:

Good. So I had a child when I was like 24, and then I had another baby just three years ago. So I have a three-year-old now and a 17-year-old. So I was the opposite parent. But what I wanted to say to Shannon was you're worried about them not wanting to spend as much time at home, but I think you also have to remember that the opposite could happen. So that baby is going to now be taking all the attention that they are so used to from their dad, right? And they might start to shift that feeling and be like, well, I go there and everything's all about the baby. So kind of prepare them for that, too, and kind of make sure that they are aware that this baby needs a little extra attention and that those feelings are normal and they're valid. But also keep that in mind that that could be a possibility. Yeah, that's great. And then in terms of the gifts, so I feel like you've got little kids watching you, right? They're looking at you and they're learning from you. And if you're out buying, I guess, and saying, let's get this for your baby sister, and you know what, I'm going to incorporate this, and I'm going to put this for me, like, you're just giving them a really good, you're being a good role model and setting a very good example for future for them.

01:31:38 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 2:

I love that. Yeah.

01:31:39 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think it's really important.

01:31:41 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 5:

Great call, Lacey. Thank you for the call. Stella, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. And for those that are just listening right now, Shannon just was telling us about how her ex-husband and his new wife just had a baby. Stella, what did you want to say?

01:31:57 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations. Good morning.

01:32:01 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

01:32:02 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

01:32:03 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on?

01:32:04 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think, Shannon, a good gift would be one of those recordable books that Lucian Smith can read to the baby. They're not going to have that book. And it's a really good thing to do. We did it for our grandkids. um and they love it not gonna lie we had some wine before we read it that's cute that's a cute idea really fun and it was cute and their little voices now I'm outing, baby, not too hard. Oh, that's great. The cat in the hat. One fish. I think it would be a dead one.

01:32:41 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Stella.

01:32:42 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 2:

Grab my drink and say, blue fish, two fish.

01:32:46 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Lauren. What's happening?

01:32:49 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, morning, guys. How's it going?

01:32:50 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Great.

01:32:51 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

01:32:54 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

I was just tuning in, and I wanted a call. So I do not have any kids, but my mom got divorced when I was four and remarried a few years later. So I have a younger half-brother who is seven years younger than me. And honestly, there were some tough spots. But I think it had to do with the fact that when my brother was born, his dad, it was his first time having a kid. So he was focused solely on my little brother. and again the attention was kind of taken away so I think as long as the parents understand that yeah there's a baby but there's also other kids in there and you guys have a good dynamic you really shouldn't have any issues I mean me and my brother aren't the closest but we have a better relationship now that we're older yeah and it's going to be weird sometimes and there's going to be fights and sometimes kids are going to feel like they're not getting the attention that they used to have but that's just part of life where they have to go through these things because they're going to experience other parts of their life when they're in school and their friends give attention to other people so you just really have to have a good cohesive unit you know with your family and be able to communicate well because I was the youngest for my dad and the middle child for my mom so you can imagine how that's a little difficult

01:34:23 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 5:

to wrap your head around it and that's interesting because smith will have that so smith will actually be the uh the baby for shannon and uh and yeah and be yeah until you adopt a another dog and then you have but no it's cool i mean i think that's kind of a cool feeling to know that you got the baby feels in one place and uh you're just one of the kids in the other place no i'm just kidding good luck smith uh what's what's up carrie hi good morning um i just want to

01:34:55 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 2:

give a little advice it's just my opinion personally i'm just guessing You're a grandma. Are you a grandma? Because you sound like a grandma.

01:35:03 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am. I can tell. Yes, I am.

01:35:04 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

Your voice, like, you sound like you should be the grandma in the movies. You know what I mean? It's like, well, hold on. We're going over to Grandma's house. Hello, Grandma. What's going on?

01:35:13 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 3:

Bless your heart because I love all my children and grandchildren. It's everything.

01:35:20 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 2:

Could you just say, ho, ho, ho, I'm Mrs. Claus?

01:35:24 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 3:

Ho, ho, ho, I'm Mrs. Claus.

01:35:27 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Mrs. Claus, what's going on?

01:35:30 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 3:

okay so listen i'm just my advice and i'm hoping that shannon isn't using this um around the children because i don't use half half is not allowed that is their sibling oh for sure is their new sister and even hearing half um in their mind i feel like it starts to segregate the children so i feel like saying that is something you should never do and um i would never i have a sister and she's my sister but we have different dads period i'm just saying that's my biggest

01:36:03 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 4:

advice is never use the house yep i love that she's old enough to know about segregation

01:36:08 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 3:

baby watch out now

01:36:12 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 2:

grandma carrie you're the sweetest we appreciate that that's actually that is really wonderful advice yeah that is awesome advice

01:36:22 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 1:

it's the second date update a mojo in the morning second date update not getting a call back you

01:36:29 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 2:

went on a date and then you started thinking this could actually be something and then all of a sudden no call on the phone with us is paul he's getting ghosted and this is the interesting thing paul and stacy both recently got divorced and are back in the dating scene so both of you guys have this as a date to get to go out and see each other. That had to be cool, huh? How's it like dating again, Paul?

01:37:00 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

It's a little weird. I'm not going to lie. But, you know, you get used to it, and it's just kind of reverting back 20 years ago or so. Yeah. So it's not terrible.

01:37:09 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 2:

How long were you married before you ended up getting divorced?

01:37:13 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 1:

12 years, and we were together for 15. Wow. So, you know, it's been a while. I've been out of the pool for a while, and everything's changed. So, you know, a little different.

01:37:21 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to find out exactly why Stacey has been kind of slow to get back to you. Stacey is on the phone with us right now. Stacey, will you say hey to Paul?

01:37:30 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you? Hi, hello.

01:37:34 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 2:

So I have no idea what you guys did on your date, but I'm going to find out, first off, why Stacey's not returning calls and then ask questions about the date. Stacey, why are you slow to get back to Paul?

01:37:48 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 4:

well uh let me just say the date was fine i mean it was it was good we had good chemistry

01:37:56 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 2:

what what did you guys do did you guys go out just for dinner drinks what did you do

01:38:01 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 4:

yeah so we had met at a bar a few weeks ago and then we went to dinner um recently um had a nice

01:38:10 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 2:

dinner okay and then what did you do at the end of the date did you guys leave or did you guys go

01:38:15 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 4:

back to to another place and go what did you do well like i said the chemistry was really good so

01:38:23 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 2:

um i followed him back to his house yeah oh okay this is where it gets fun okay let me change the music here this is where the the good music what happened when once you guys got to his house

01:38:36 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 4:

uh yeah see that's the whole thing uh we walked into his house and sitting right there in a family room his babysitter and kids

01:38:51 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 2:

okay so he had a babysitter there watching his children at his house and you and when you were going back to his house were you thinking that you were going back to his house to get romantic

01:39:04 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

with him or what were you thinking definitely and he did not mention one time that his babysitter and kids would be there when we walked in the door so what did you guys do then did you just hang out with him and his kids or his babysitter no he immediately pulled the babysitter into the kitchen and then next thing you know they're walking down to what i'm assuming is the basement because he went down the stairs.

01:39:32 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 2:

Who's walking down?

01:39:34 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

The babysitter and the kids.

01:39:37 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so they go downstairs. And where do you guys go?

01:39:42 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, nowhere. He came up to me and I'm asking him, hey, what's going on? He said, no, it's cool. I sent the sitter and the kids down to the basement for a while. So we're good.

01:39:55 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 2:

And then what was the intention after that? that I guess that we would go up to his room and continue the evening.

01:40:08 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. Paul, is that the case? No, no.

01:40:11 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:40:12 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 6:

Paul? Yeah. That's absolutely the case, yes.

01:40:15 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God, Paul. You have been out of the game.

01:40:19 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 3:

So wait. So your kids are with the babysitter in the basement, and you're going to go then upstairs. So you'll be two floors away from your children while you and Stacey are together.

01:40:33 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 6:

Yes. I mean, that's where my life is, and that's really the only option I had. There's not much else I could have done at that point.

01:40:40 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 3:

First off, I'm kind of shocked that you would want to introduce a new woman to your kids on a first date like this.

01:40:47 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 6:

She wasn't introducing them. Like she said, it was going well. I mean, you know, there was momentum, and I wanted to keep the momentum going, and I didn't know really what other options I had, And so I was just, you know, improvising at that point.

01:41:00 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 1:

I got to be honest, man.

01:41:01 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 3:

That is awkward, though.

01:41:03 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 1:

Just meeting the kids after only, you know, knowing her for a couple of hours.

01:41:08 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I just think that's the greatest.

01:41:15 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

Your kids had to have known, like, where do they think Dad was going and what Dad was doing?

01:41:23 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'm honest with them. I mean, I said Dad's going out with a friend. you know it's been some time and and we talked about it i mean i'm trying to be transparent yeah you know again i it's the cost of dinner the cost of what were we going to go to a hotel i mean it's just i'm not that guy to spend that much you know and i was trying to in the moment do the best

01:41:42 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 3:

i could this is what i'm picturing he's gonna say kids go down in the basement me and miss stacy are going to. I love when people do that. We're going to go hang out.

01:41:58 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 5:

I mean, what else is he supposed to do in that situation, though?

01:42:01 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 3:

Don't bring him back to the house.

01:42:02 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 5:

I mean, yeah, I guess that's right.

01:42:05 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 3:

You'll go to her house if she's got nobody at her house. Park the car somewhere. Yeah.

01:42:10 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Park the car somewhere.

01:42:12 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Wayne wants to comment. Wayne, what do you think they should have done? He should have went and got a hotel real quick. Yeah. This is the best time in the world to go to a Hampton Inn, right?

01:42:23 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, or Holiday Inn, you know?

01:42:25 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Holiday Inn Express, you know?

01:42:27 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 5:

Breakfast in the morning.

01:42:28 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 3:

This is an opportunity here. This is where the babysitter comes into play and stays with the kids until morning. What's up, Dave? How you doing?

01:42:37 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 7:

Good. How are you? I just wanted to ask him, why didn't you see what she had going on at her house? That was my question.

01:42:44 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Paul, why did that?

01:42:46 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 7:

I wasn't invited.

01:42:48 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so he didn't want to be too forward.

01:42:51 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 7:

He was moving quick.

01:42:52 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:42:52 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I got the kids at the house. Would it be okay if we went back to yours?

01:42:58 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know, man. I got to tell you, he's got a good babysitter.

01:43:02 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Or even just to prepare her that there are kids and a babysitter there. So she could make the decision.

01:43:08 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

Natalie's fired up here. What's up, Natalie?

01:43:11 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 2:

That guy gives me the ick so bad. Ew.

01:43:15 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 3:

A little too much for you that he wants to have some fun with Stacy while the kids are down in the basement? Miss Stacy. Watching movies with the babysitter?

01:43:27 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 2:

You could literally do anything else. Anything else than be like, yeah, sorry, my children are downstairs. And they might hear us baking cookies, but it's fine.

01:43:39 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

part of me feels a little bit bad for paul because he he's admitted he's been out of the

01:43:46 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 3:

game for a while yeah he didn't know what to do yeah he should he should honestly just ended the

01:43:50 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 5:

date and had another day he's excited about the end of date let the let the kids you know go to

01:43:57 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 3:

mom's house and do another date what's up eric hi hey just just for future reference uh for what's

01:44:04 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 4:

His name is, uh, I don't know.

01:44:06 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:44:07 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 4:

Paul, Paul, Paul, just for future reference, because I know the cost of dinner and price in hotels are ridiculous, but, um, if you go to some places, there's actually a hotel that you can rent by the hour, so then that way you can get a lot of money. Do they really?

01:44:19 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 3:

And they have, uh, jacuzzis in them. Aren't those the prostitution hotels? I don't think the drinks don't do that at certain hotels. I thought people just went there for naps. I don't know. For naps. Yeah, truckers just hang out at naps. Wait, what is the jacuzzi place?

01:44:31 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 5:

Isn't there the, the, the, the, I passed by 108 mile the other day.

01:44:34 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Ace?

01:44:36 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 5:

Hey, man, Paul needs to, like, get some single friends so he can brush up on his etiquette.

01:44:41 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, etiquette. Borrow the bed of a single friend.

01:44:45 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Paul rushing into this thing. You got to take his time and figure out the new groundwork. It's a new area, Paul.

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Texter here says, 810 says, should have pulled a Shannon and Wes.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 2:

and went to church went to church go to church that's what i said church yeah parking lot of

01:45:04 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 4:

church it's always a good place richard what's up richard hey what's going on mojo in the morning just wanted to let you know that uh my wife and i we send the kids outside all the time

01:45:20 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 7:

to uh you know to get to get one in but this but that's what you do with your wife and their mother You know what I mean? Like, you don't bring some strange back to the house and then all of a sudden throw...

01:45:32 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, before she was my wife, I did. Did you? With the kids? With my first son. Really? With my son, yeah.

01:45:39 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 2:

How old was he, though, at the time?

01:45:42 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 4:

He was probably like, let's see, that would have been... He would have been 10.

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, so aware.

01:45:50 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 7:

That's crazy. To me, that's crazy to do that. Rachel, what's up?

01:45:54 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 6:

Be like that sometimes.

01:45:56 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 3:

The first time when I heard him say that he was going upstairs, I immediately said, Eww! Like, it's like, babysitter, take the kids downstairs. I'm going to go up and do this woman. I'm going to let you know when you can go home. What are you going to do, come down, dress like Hugh Hefner? I said, okay, I'm done. You can email.

01:46:15 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 7:

This is like the start of some kind of porn or something, isn't it? All right, so, Stacy, good luck to you in the future. Paul, I hope you learned a lesson.

01:46:25 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:46:26 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

01:46:28 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 7:

Awesome.

01:46:28 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 5:

This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:46:40 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 7:

All right, we're going to give you a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Lil Wayne. Yeah. We got tickets to see Tate McRae at 6.30 and 9.30. Chris Brown tickets at 7.30 and then at 8.30 right now, which is this dirty, dirty number three on the podcast, is Lil Wayne tickets. So if you want to listen live to the show, listen live for a chance to win those tickets. Shannon with The Dirty, what's going on?

01:47:05 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, there are so many new couple, new couples that we've been talking about today. Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry out on a date yesterday. Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas, which they've been together in line about it for a couple of months now. The cutest, Pam Anderson and Liam Neeson. Have you seen them together, you guys? Are you serious? Oh, my God. Okay, so they are in the new Naked Gun movie together. Yeah. And so many different sources to me have confirmed that, yes, they are dating. They're just being coy about it, as they were during a joint appearance on the Today Show yesterday, where they were even, quote-unquote, pretend making out, but it's a thing.

01:47:46 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 1:

I had never met Pamela before. I heard. We met on set, and we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry. Yeah. A connection. There's two actors, and I was like, oh, this is nice. Let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe.

01:48:03 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 2:

In every interview she's ever done, she calls him the perfect gentleman. And by the way, if you haven't seen Pam Anderson lately, I just love what she's doing. No makeup, very laid back, not this, like, fake, stereotypical person that she used to be. But they're very cute together.

01:48:20 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 6:

I can't quite put my finger on it. And I don't know if the world is just working in this way where we need to heal after all the astronomer Coldplay situation. I just feel like somehow the two are connected. We get three, to your point, celebrity couples after a whole week of this relationship debacle.

01:48:39 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 2:

Are you saying so relationships come in threes just like deaths come in threes? It could be something like that. I don't know. We're trying to shift focus back to love. They've been dating for like two years now, but Travis Kelsey just went Instagram official with Taylor Swift, posting a whole bunch of photos of her for the very first time on his account. But he had to ask for her permission before posting that photo dump. He had to run every single photo by her. He didn't want to post anything that she was not 100% comfortable with. And friends are saying it's simple. He respects her privacy. He always has. He wants her to feel safe. And that's why they work. She trusts him with everything. Happy Gilmore 2. If you watched, it had just a massive debut on Netflix over the weekend. And the sequel racking up 46.7 million complete viewings in its first three days, making it Netflix's biggest U.S. film debut ever and Adam Sandler's most watched Netflix release to date. And then a lot of people were going back and watching the original Happy Gilmore from 1996. It was ranking number three globally last night with 11.4 million views just over the weekend alone. Got the tour coming soon, too. And lastly, I don't know how I feel about this. I think it's kind of gross. A TikToker named Ann. Angela revealed her husband recently died and to remember him, she decided to remove and frame a piece of his tattooed skin. Oh, God.

01:50:14 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 1:

My husband passed away on a Friday. His showing was the following Thursday and the funeral was Friday. But on Friday, after everybody left and I was doing my goodbye, is when the mortician and I, she and I stood there and I got to outline the exact tattoo I wanted.

01:50:31 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

He had 70 tattoos. They chose one that was related to the Pittsburgh Steelers because he was a huge Steelers fan. So now she's framing it.

01:50:38 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy, dog. So do you cut off the piece of the body?

01:50:42 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea. What's the process of it? No, I don't want to know. I don't know.

01:50:46 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

Can I give you some breaking news from the television, since we don't have televisions here, but I'm looking at it right now on my phone. This is from Sky News.

01:50:56 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 1:

And there, Sharon.

01:50:58 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 4:

Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession is going on right now.

01:51:01 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 1:

His wife was his tour manager.

01:51:02 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 4:

And Sharon and the kids.

01:51:04 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 1:

Sharon!

01:51:06 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 4:

Are just arriving at the funeral as we speak. Where is it at? It's in Birmingham, England. Yeah.

01:51:15 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 1:

It's downtown.

01:51:15 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 2:

And son, Jack, also, and other daughter, Amy. Are they walking like a procession?

01:51:20 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 4:

They're showing up where there's a bunch of flowers and things posted in front of an Aussie picture that is right there in the center.

01:51:32 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 2:

People were lining the streets overnight, I saw, like, waiting for this. It's like when Biggie died.

01:51:40 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So there they are. Wow. Kind of hanging out there, yeah.

01:51:43 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, there's a lot of people.

01:51:44 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 4:

Huge amounts. I mean, he's literally royalty in England, you know? So that mean the queen will come? I don't know if Charles and Camilla and those guys will be there. I doubt it, but I don't know.

01:51:58 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 2:

All right, for everything you missed today, you can still listen to the podcast. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:52:05 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Your call may be monitored or recorded. All right. Give away a pair of tickets to see Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne tickets for Amar. Amar, you're a winner, buddy. Yeah. Let's go, baby. Let's go. This call will be recorded. Hello. Who's recording this call?

01:52:32 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 2:

He is. He wants to hear it back later.

01:52:35 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Wait. No, no. Keep it recording. Here. Hey. No, no. Since you're recording this, let's leave a message right now. Let's do one real quick. Hey, this is Mojo, and I just want to congratulate Amar from Sterling Heights. Won tickets to see Lil Wayne, Shannon.

01:52:48 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Amar. Congratulations. Thank you for listening.

01:52:54 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 4:

Every morning.

01:52:55 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 2:

Don't miss it.

01:52:56 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 4:

We appreciate you, buddy. Congratulations. Hang on the phone.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you very, very much.

01:53:01 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 4:

A friendly note to the competition. You all can kiss our asses. I feel better. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, Mojo in the Morning show. So, uh, Cav and the scammer scamming who moms, bruh, your mom, your mom, moms in general

01:53:19 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 3:

or your mom, my mom, your mom, he could be out there.

01:53:22 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 4:

Who knows what this guy, you know, what's interesting is, uh, I, this is where I always want to call my good buddy over at, uh, the Fox two hall of shame, Rob Walcheck. Um, so if Rob's listening, they need to get on this. What's the story, man?

01:53:38 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 3:

And so my mom asked me to come over yesterday and went over there and she was having some work done to her house. And I come in and I hear her and the gentleman that's there from the company assisting her in the dining room area, sitting down and they're, I guess, talking numbers. So I don't immediately come in and, you know, give her a hug and introduce myself. I kind of just like go in the living room, kind of sit down and let them finish doing what they're doing. I hear my mom say I was quoted a different price and the guy's like yeah but this this is the price she's like I spoke to three different people who all quoted me the same price he's like I you know I'm sorry this is this is what it is so I say from the room my it's okay we'll just pay for it I'm sure all calls are recorded for quality insurance purposes we can just deal with it from there and figure out the difference literally the moment i stopped talking and saying what i said he's like i mean we i'm sure we can figure something out i'm sure i can just make a little adjustment here and there and he went with the original price that she told him everybody else

01:54:49 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

had quoted he realized at that particular time someone was paying attention he got himself into a little bust-in situation, huh? Exactly. So in my mind,

01:54:59 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm like,

01:55:00 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 4:

Like, is this a game that he constantly runs? Is this because she's not an old lady, but, you know, she's up in age a little bit. Is it, like, older people just get game ran on them because people view them as targets?

01:55:14 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 3:

What made you think of doing that? Like, what made you think of pulling that out?

01:55:20 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 4:

That just seemed like the logical thing to do at the moment. Instead of them going back and forth, oh, this was the price I was quoted, oh, I can't help you, ma'am. I'm sure if she said three other people that she's spoken to from this company, it's not like some little rinky-dink corner little spot. Like, this is a name if I mention everybody will recognize. So I'm like, let's call Hank Wenger. Yeah.

01:55:39 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 5:

I feel that way as a woman in general with everything that I get quoted for. I'm like, they think that I, you know, have sucker written on my forehead, but I really do do my due diligence. It's so sad when people take advantage of older people, though. That just pisses me off to no end.

01:55:55 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 3:

I think that everybody can get taken advantage of because they'll take advantage of them, but old people specifically, you are literally the scum of the earth if you're doing it. But I also feel like you almost need everything in writing these days, and it's almost kind of like when you talk to them on the phone, you've got to say, well, can you send me that quickly in an email or a text and get that to happen? What kind of work? Did you say what kind of work?

01:56:19 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 4:

I didn't say what kind of work, but security systems type work.

01:56:23 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So a new security system. Essentially. Yeah. Man, that's awful.

01:56:29 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:56:30 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 3:

You need to call my buddy. This is my time for product placement. At Mark Electronics. Okay, Mark. Matthew over at Mark Electronics. Say they don't scam people. Well, first off, if you did, I'll beat his ass.

01:56:44 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 4:

Whatever they quote, that's what they pay. He's a friend. He's a good guy.

01:56:47 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 3:

Can I say something to you real quick with you coming in there? I think that's pretty awesome that you were able to be there. I don't know if I necessarily want my mom having some guy randomly show up at the house. I hate to say this, and this is, you know, nothing against women, especially older women. But I don't want you, like, I don't feel comfortable when there's a guy coming to the house to fix something or do something, and Chelsea's home by herself, and I'm here at work.

01:57:12 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:57:13 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? Yeah, that makes sense. Like, that's good. Was the intention of you to be there, or were you just. No, she just asked to come over. She asked me to come over.

01:57:19 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that was the reason, though.

01:57:20 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 3:

that's smart that that happens because you know what you're not there and you listen your mom can handle herself i think she'd be smart enough to go no i'm not going with that price but uh if you're

01:57:30 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 5:

not there that guy's probably my mom too she lives by herself and i always get nervous and she has like everything going wrong with her house right now it's same thing i'm like i don't know how

01:57:37 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 4:

comfortable i feel with this but earlier you mentioned as a woman in particular people looking at you like you say you have sucker written on your face yeah like she doesn't know what she's

01:57:46 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 5:

talking about you know that's why i always say like in everything now it's a little bit easier because i can just say okay i'm gonna get back to you i need to run this by my husband and then i feel like they're like yeah you know but before when it was just me um i it was harder hey manny

01:58:04 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 1:

what's up hey i just got a quick question hey kev when you were telling your story did you say that the call was recorded for quality insurance purposes?

01:58:15 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 4:

No, insurance. I didn't say insurance. You did. No, I did not. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Well, this conversation was recorded as well, so I'm going to go back.

01:58:24 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for quality insurance purposes, I get Geico.

01:58:28 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 4:

Nah, I probably just talk different.

01:58:30 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 3:

No, that was good. Thanks for catching on that one, Manny. Funeral Home Tom was on. What's up, Tom? Good morning. Why do you only call it this time? Tom, do you not listen to the show? I'm on my way to work. I know, but can you listen to the show earlier and call? Like, I feel like this is the only time that we ever get Tom calling.

01:58:49 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm always at work, you know, going to work, coming to work, whatever.

01:58:53 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 3:

Do people only die at this time in the morning, or what's the story?

01:58:57 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 2:

No, I just got to get, I'm like in my zone. Okay, what's happening? I'm in my zone. So let me ask you this, Kev. Why would you even want to deal with somebody who's going to give you three prices and then kind of bait and switch you on the last price? That's true. I feel like you're going to get a savvy workmanship.

01:59:13 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, like I said, this is a pretty reputable company. Not saying that they, you know, can't be as financially responsible as the next. But when three people online give you one price, I think that's the price you expect to get.

01:59:26 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you something? That I don't trust this guy on the get-go. And I still think that you need to call them and let them know that this guy did it. Because part of me wonders if he's padding somewhere money.

01:59:37 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 4:

And that's what I was thinking.

01:59:38 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 3:

You know, and trying to mess with this. I, I, you never trust, honestly, the guys that, first off, there could be a person on the phone that's just trying to get you to take their call. So he's giving you a bad price. And then the guy that's going out there and he's giving you, like, who's the.

01:59:55 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 5:

Who's right? Where is it at? Yeah.

01:59:56 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Who's the person that's messing this, this thing up? 844.

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 4:

Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Anybody have like a good story for us on how their grandma, grandpa, mom, or dad got scammed? Hi. What's up, Carla?

02:00:10 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Mojo and guys. Good morning.

02:00:14 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 4:

What's up?

02:00:16 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 1:

So I am calling because I feel, Kevin, like I told up to my mom all the time from bad customer service representatives. Like, one time she called to get a refund and a ticket she bought from Ticketmaster. And somehow, you know, she's like 66, so she's not very tech savvy. She got redirected to this guy that was from India or whatever. And he sounded like, no, you have to send us money to get this back. And she's like trying to download apps and stuff. But I'm like, Ma, no. Hang up the phone. Hang up the phone. I'm constantly always saying with her, Greta, if you're listening, I'm telling on you. Hang up the phone, mother******.

02:00:54 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just hang up on these guys. Those people, by the way, that are the call center people, they won't let you hang up the phone on them. They are just.

02:01:05 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Yeah, he was very aggressive. He was very like, no, no, no. He's like, tell your family member to hold on. What? Tell your family member to hold on. I'm going to hang up on this man. Like, what are you talking about? I can't stand it. I'm so glad. She always says, I'm so glad I have you. Because people, I'm like, yeah, me too. Me too all the time.

02:01:23 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, Carla.

02:01:23 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 1:

Hold on for you, hold on for you, hold on. So she got into an accident in Redford recently, right? And the cop was, like, telling her, no, they're trying to tow her car. And I was like, no, ma, tell me that you're on insurance. You don't need to get your car towed. She's like, well, I'm trying to tell him. I'm on the phone. I can hear her trying to tell him, and he's not listening. So I was like, mom, ask for a supervisor. She was like, what? He's going to get mad. I said, I don't care about that. Ask for a supervisor. You don't need a man. He asked for a supervisor, and guess what? He was like, oh, no, ma'am, go ahead and put your car to the side.

02:01:52 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:01:52 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it changes the tune. That's horrible.

02:01:55 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 1:

I know it was a different cop. He was talking so nice. I know it was a whole different person. It was the same person.

02:02:00 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Carla.

02:02:01 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 1:

All right. We love you guys. Have a nice day. We love you too. I'm a gravel train driver, and I'm a girl, so I want to shut myself out.

02:02:09 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she's a, you're a, what kind of driver?

02:02:13 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. I'm a gravel train driver, yeah.

02:02:16 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 4:

What is that? What is that?

02:02:18 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 1:

uh trucking but you carry roxy's two uh two trains two trailers okay

02:02:25 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 4:

well thank you for the call i appreciate it beast morgan what's happening hey good morning guys

02:02:33 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 3:

morning i've been a i've been a listener through a lot of projects with you guys i remember mike was doing some work on adding a closet his house and everything and yeah yeah um i work for a general contractor in grand rapids area we don't do detroit and i'm not plugging the business i I just want to, if any of you guys ever get a price or something that seems pretty suspicious, give me a call or text me or whatever. That's great.

02:02:54 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 5:

That's very nice. I appreciate it. That's very, very nice.

02:02:56 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

No, that's awesome that we would, you know, get to know you and get to have you. You did help, Mike, didn't you, with Remodel or something?

02:03:04 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 3:

I texted him. I texted him. I was going to help him out, and he never got a hold of me, and that's fine. But if anything ever comes up, I'm Will. Nice guy.

02:03:12 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 4:

That is actually a really, really nice offer.

02:03:14 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 2:

Morgan's math.

02:03:15 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 4:

Dad, the dad of Bill got scammed. What happened, Bill?

02:03:20 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he got an email that said a shipment was on its way to, like, California, and he lives in Michigan, and, you know, call us back if it's, you know, it doesn't look right, and he called them back. And they probably what? Well, they basically had him get, first of all, get, like, a $100 gift card, then a $500 gift card.

02:03:40 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 4:

That poor guy. We need more money. We need more money. Is dad with it, or is dad just old? Both, you know, with it and old. He is. Or not with it, I guess I was meaning to say. Like, you feel bad to these people that kind of lose a little bit of themselves.

02:03:59 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 5:

Well, then they get nervous that they're going to be in trouble, so they just do whatever they're asked.

02:04:03 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 4:

And I will say this. I know some old guys that are really together. They still have their brain about them and stuff like that, and then there's some people that just, you know, they lose it. And they're prime victims for this. Kyle's mom was scammed. What happened to your mom?

02:04:18 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 1:

She got scammed by the Nigerian prince.

02:04:21 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Lord. Guys, people are still falling for that one.

02:04:25 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's not the only time. My mom's been scammed four different times by four different calls.

02:04:30 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 4:

Take away her cell phone. No, she needs to live in your house, in a guest room, Kyle.

02:04:36 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 1:

She does, but I work too much, and she does it while I'm at work.

02:04:41 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That Nigerian Prince thing is crazy. That, you know.

02:04:48 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

02:04:49 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 4:

How much money are we talking about, Kyle?

02:04:52 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 1:

I think they got her for like $200 or $300.

02:04:57 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man.

02:04:58 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. For her last. Her last time, she got scammed for just over $400 because some dude told her that she had to pay to work at a at-home job. She had to buy all kinds of stuff, and they hit her bank account for like $400.

02:05:15 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's nothing compared to Michelle's mother-in-law. How much money did your mother-in-law get scammed out of?

02:05:22 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 3:

$38,000. Holy cow.

02:05:24 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 4:

How did that happen?

02:05:25 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 3:

somebody called her got on to her religious side told her that god would watch out for her and be there for her and make sure that everything was okay and her account was being hacked and she needed to remove all of her money from her bank account and deposit it into a bitcoin machine

02:05:46 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, not the Bitcoin. Oh, poor thing. Hey, Tracy.

02:05:49 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes, Bitcoin. Horrible. All for Jesus. And they have notices all over. Yes, all for Jesus. No words.

02:05:58 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 5:

That's insane, bro. Oh, thank you.

02:06:01 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:06:01 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 5:

This is a special place in here for them.

02:06:03 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 2:

That's awful. Yes, yes. $38,000. These people.

02:06:08 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 5:

I got some money. I was going to say. Yeah, I don't know. I got $38,000.

02:06:12 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Here's the best. We're going from that topic to now we're going to scam a mom with five lies. It's like, poor mom. We got a new poop-a-trader. Get ready.

02:06:37 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:39 - 02:06:40 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:06:41 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama.

02:06:42 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Jamie, what is it that your mom is notoriously known as?

02:06:50 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, having accidents and going to the bathroom in public is what she's known for. I mean, she's got to go. She does not care when, where, how, who. She's going.

02:07:02 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And where are some of the places that she's gone?

02:07:06 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know, I mean, middle of a country road. Denny's parking lot in the middle of the day. She, you know, she gets it just right where she knows to open the front door and the back door, pave herself in there. She's got her toilet paper in the van. You know, she's just got herself the system, I guess. Okay.

02:07:26 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow. All right, so we're going to call your mom up, and we're going to say that she's in trouble for doing this stuff, but you're going to be the one doing it, okay? Yeah. All right, five lies to tell your mom. We're going to give you five lies for the listeners to listen for, but you've got to be able to say them to your mom and get them all out before she hangs up.

02:07:45 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:07:46 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Lie number one, you're going to say they had to close the campground. You guys were recently at the campground?

02:07:55 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:07:56 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Lie number two.

02:07:57 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Say people have been pooping where they shouldn't.

02:08:01 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Lie number three. They have a video of the poop-a-trader on Facebook. Lie number four.

02:08:10 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 1:

It kind of looks like you.

02:08:12 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 2:

And line number five, and the police are involved and you could get arrested.

02:08:18 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Got it.

02:08:20 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 2:

All right. Where are you right now?

02:08:23 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 4:

I work in a factory.

02:08:25 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What are we making?

02:08:27 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 4:

We're making headlamps and tail lamps for everything on the road.

02:08:32 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 2:

I love it. We love that. Thank you for keeping us well lit when we're driving to go find a place to go duty. Calling your mom up. Five lies, tell your mom. Speak up nice and loud.

02:08:43 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

All right. Hello? Mom? What's wrong? Mom, nothing's wrong. You got like five minutes to talk to me real quick? No. I'm at the f***ing work. Well, I was just wondering if you went to the campground this past weekend. No, I didn't. Why? Oh, yes, I did. Why? Oh, I guess there was a problem with the campground. They're closing it. The campground? They're closing it. I guess people have been pooping where they shouldn't. F***ing rake. Yeah, they have a video on Facebook of the poof-a-traders. Oh, my God. Yeah, it kind of looks like you, Mom. Where? What? Where? At the campground. I guess on Facebook it says that the police are involved. I don't want you to get it right.

02:10:00 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

arrested. Did you poop? I pooped in the toilet. Well, I'm staying outside, Mom. They're not getting the police involved about that. That's okay. I had just seen it on Facebook and I was concerned. Is this Jamie? Yeah, Mom, it's me. What are you? Okay. I was just on the

02:10:24 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 3:

page and seen it okay the one you it wasn't me okay good oh hear it me

02:10:35 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 1:

02:11:02 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 2:

02:11:08 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 3:

02:11:15 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sorry, Mom.

02:11:16 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Mom, what?

02:11:18 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 1:

Mom, it's Mojo in the morning, and your daughter had you on five lies to tell your mom.

02:11:23 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that just lovely? I'm sorry, but this is a serious job.

02:11:27 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 1:

I apologize. I know it is. We wanted to get you a prize. We didn't realize we were calling you while you were working.

02:11:33 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what's the prize that I supposedly won?

02:11:37 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 1:

A year's supply of toilet paper.

02:11:39 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 3:

Grand, that's great, because I don't have a lot.

02:11:42 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. We're going to get you a nice prize. Go out and have a great night out, okay? Build up some more evidence for us.

02:11:55 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 3:

I have 36 females here I'm trying to care for.

02:11:58 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. We apologize. Your daughter told us you have a history of this, so.

02:12:04 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she told her she's right. I have no gallbladder, so.

02:12:08 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Okay. Well, it just, like, flows right out.

02:12:12 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:12:12 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 1:

You got kind of a sh**ty daughter, don't you?

02:12:15 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 3:

I do, but you know what? She's inherited the same thing.

02:12:20 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Call her right out.

02:12:22 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 3:

My daughter does the same thing. She poops too, and sometimes she poops in her pants. So that you could do on the radio. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:12:37 - 02:12:38 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:12:39 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mama.

02:12:40 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 1:

all right it is mojo in the morning exhausted today i should have done this topic like really early in the morning like first uh call because this topic i think would be better with the listeners that are literally with us starting at 6 a.m or 5 o'clock for the warm-up show but you are good enough to okay talking to you funeral tom i uh i i've you know you've heard of FOMO, right? You know what FOMO is? Yeah. Fear of missing out. I have, I would hope that this is how you pronounce it, FOSMO which is fear of summer missing out. Or FOS, yeah, maybe, I don't know how it is. I have the fear, like I think some other people do, of FOSMO, maybe. Yeah, FOSMO is a little better. FOSMO sounds like, FOSMO. It sounds like a guy that's that, uh, it's Phosmos, uh, parasitis, like a guy's name or whatever. Like it's not Phosmo like a beautiful Italian man. I was going to say, Phosmo wears a Speedo. Yeah. So I, um, I have a, a summertime fear that I don't know if you or any of our listeners have ever experienced. And that is the, I've got to wake up to go to work the next morning and all my friends, all my family my neighbors are all out having fun and it's summertime and it bothers me because like you know this happens to you if you have young kids but it's worse when you're somebody that has friends that go out and party all the time so last night we were out hanging out drinking and went to eat and then had you know they were all drinking and having fun and I kind of had one drink early and then I kind of laid off and then my wife Chels had I think she even had three drinks last night i haven't seen her do three drinks in the longest time like she is she's usually like a one and done on this thing because you know she like can't handle uh to to put down three drinks she handled it last night she was good so we'll go out and then everybody will be like oh chels why don't you stay with me and uh or stay with us and we'll all like hang out and then we'll go somewhere else and chels will kind of give me the look like you know okay are You okay? And last night she didn't, she actually came home with me, which honestly made me feel like awesome that she did. And it's not that I don't want her to have fun, but I also, I enjoy going to bed with her. Like I enjoy being with her.

02:15:11 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 3:

And you don't want her to have fun without you.

02:15:12 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And no, that's not what I meant to say yeah to. You say yeah. No, I want her to have fun, but I also like when she's home. You know, it's kind of like, it's the same situation when your kids aren't home. I hate when my kids aren't there. So she came home and we went to bed and it was great. It was nice, you know, like got to to talk before we went to bed and then, you know, cuddled and fell asleep. And all of that aside, I hate this job. And I'm going to tell you why I'm going to tell you why I hate this job. I hate this job because if we had a job that started at 9 o'clock in the morning or was an office job where we could show up late, like, obviously, everybody here is today because there's nobody here in the office right now. There's literally two part-time people that are sitting there at a cubicle, and there's, like, not, okay, Doug Podell, Mark, the engineer, and that's it. Like, I don't see anybody else. There's nobody else in this building right now. And it made me sit there and think to myself, I wish that I could stay out and hang with my friends. Like, I want to be there and party with Chelsea and our friends. And I think that the thing that sucks so bad is we don't have a job also where I can just go, you know what? I'm just going to take a personal day tomorrow.

02:16:34 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, I'm off tomorrow.

02:16:35 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 1:

That's the big piece of it. Like, it sucks that, you know, we have to prepare to take a day off. and when we're not here it becomes a situation right people get all kind of crazy when we're off and we but we plan our days off or we have unexpected things happen to us we have to really all come together and try to figure out a time to take off yeah but that's the bigger thing to me

02:16:57 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 3:

oh i get it all the time especially i have a few friends that don't work so they don't work how do they get that job well they're stay-at-home moms and i'm not saying that it's any easier but i'm saying they don't have to be somewhere at a certain time so like if we're all out all out hanging on my friend lindsey's back patio you know the majority of us are going home it's me it's you always me first every single time that i'm going home because i wake up at 3 45 in the morning you know and it kind of sucks and then i it's me the next day texting everyone going what time did everybody stay till because i want to know how many hours of fun i missed out on

02:17:34 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

That was one of the biggest transitions in even starting this job was the amount of times I had to consider how early I was going to end my night or whether or not I was even going to go because I know how the night was going to go and then having to wake up. I was laying in the bed last night, and this was an early night for me. It was between 10 and 10.30. And from my apartment, I could hear people having fun outside. And I was laying there like, oh, that could be me.

02:18:03 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah it's hard to being a parent of kids when you have to go to bed early and it's summertime and your kids don't need to go to bed and that was me last night where i was in bed west west usually goes to bed at the same time i do and the kids were like well we don't want to go to bed so they stayed up and watched movies downstairs and made like a like put their sleeping bags on the couch and i kept thinking i want to be down there with them enjoying the summer they didn't

02:18:28 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 1:

Popcorn. I love women. Dummy bears. Like, that would bother me.

02:18:33 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 3:

But that, honestly, as a mom, I'm like, oh, I want to be down there watching, you know.

02:18:38 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

As a dad, too. The interesting thing is that I used to get really kind of bummed when the kids were younger and they were doing something fun. Like, I got bummed when the kids were younger and Chelsea would be like, we're going to do a Cedar Point, you know, trip. And I'm like, I can't go because we got work. And honestly, what I should have done is just taking the day off or taking time off. But again, it requires a lot to take days off. And to me, I'm one of those people where I'd rather take the week off and be off all week instead of taking a random Wednesday off. You know what I mean? And I missed out on a lot of field trips and stuff like that too. But this is really bumming me out because we have a great friendship group. and a lot of our our friendship group we get together during the week one of the people in the group is a retired hockey player uh and the guy i don't you know it's like the guy's going on strong all the time and he's retired you know and he you know he coaches uh ryan kessler coaches his kid but then i sit there and i go uh and i go damn man like i i don't i wonder like if this will be the same like when i'm not working anymore if i'll still have all the friends that still want to go out and party all the time and i'll do that but i realized the thing i would love is can we start the show at noon like listen like

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 6:

See, I like for you so on at noon and in the summer. If Mojo in the morning turns to Mojo in the midday, sign me up, bro.

02:20:06 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 1:

Let's go. But, like, occasionally it would be just nice to be able to, like, all right.

02:20:13 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something, though? Even if our show started at 7 or 9. I can do it then. See, not me. In my head, I'm still thinking it's a school night.

02:20:22 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 6:

Really? I got to get up for work tomorrow. I really would. Shanna, what time you wake up? 3.45. That is a hell of a difference from waking up at 6.45.

02:20:30 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 2:

I know because we're used to it, but in my head, even if I had to wake up at 6 or 7, I'd still be like, oh, I got to wake up for work tomorrow. It's just a mental thing for me.

02:20:38 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 6:

On the days where we don't have to work and your body just naturally wakes itself up, when that happens at 6.45 or 7, I'm so rested. Like that feels like I've slept in.

02:20:49 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say that's my normal time to wake up on the weekend. I've slept in that time.

02:20:53 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm contemplating. This is the thing I'm contemplating. contemplating uh i'm contemplating that uh i i like do like a summertime thing where like howard stern does it where we only work like three days a week and we get to have long weekends and then we get to randomly now we tape two shows on thursday like all the talk shows do let's test let's phone it in no let's test it out actually you know what's funny is there's a lot of people a lot of the guys that I'll hang out with and, and we'll go out with, we'll go, well, why don't you just do the show from home? I can't do it. I don't like, I love coming down here. The hardest part of like, I'm okay with staying. Like I stayed out late last night. I stayed out until, I don't think I got to bed till like 10 30, 11 o'clock. Um, I had the hardest time not waking up this morning. I had the hardest time driving the lodge this morning. Cause I, by the time I got in the car, I was so tired. Like I was fine waking up. I knew it was my alarm. I had to get up but then when i'm driving that you know 40 minutes or so to get to work i'm like don't you know they let that car drive i did by the way that's super cruise mike porter gordon chevrolet but being what's going on poncho i haven't heard from you in a while poncho where have you been everywhere and anywhere what's going on buddy i know this is a wah wah wah or wah wah wah like people are people are probably listening to this going you know go screw yourself why are you you complaining, but this is like real stuff. I don't know if other people experience this in their lives where responsibilities take over and you can't go have fun like the rest of your friends.

02:22:30 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 5:

I know your struggle very much, Moncho. I am up at 2 o'clock every day for work. And even on the weekend, I go to bed between 7 and 7.30. And it's like, I wish I could go out and do more stuff, especially on the weekend.

02:22:44 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 1:

What do you do, Poncho?

02:22:46 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm a milk fan. I deliver milk stories. We're going to say, are you a rooster?

02:22:51 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 1:

He's doing the best. He's milking cows. You know what? That's got to be tough.

02:22:56 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 5:

I'm not milking cows. I'm delivering the milk to the store.

02:22:57 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 1:

No, I know that. Yeah. But 2 a.m. is way worse. Although at 2 a.m., what time does your day end?

02:23:07 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 5:

It depends on how fast I can get my route done.

02:23:10 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 1:

So there are friends of mine that complain with me, and they're like, why are you bitching and moaning? You can actually get to an 11 o'clock tea time. and it is true like we do have the luxury of we can go to our kids stuff in the midday yes we don't miss it like some of the other parents do and we can actually go i can go golfing if i want to in the middle of the day during the summertime and i can have like fun and do you know all kinds of stuff but it is a struggle like when everybody's out having fun at night like we have friends that sit there and sit around a fire at night and they'll like uh just sit around have drinks and stuff and i'm like man this sucks you know and all the fun stuff happens after you leave right when i leave seriously when i'm gone every time i know justin what's happening hi hey what's up justin i thought of another one justin i going to concerts during the week sucks

02:24:06 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 2:

okay i'm going to one on sunday night and already i'm like i'm gonna be so tired on monday or tigers

02:24:11 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

games you know i want to go to a tigers game or a pistons game during the school year but But, Justin, I'm sorry, what were you going to say?

02:24:20 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I was doing the same day, man. I keep my job in the day. I'm a welder. And summertime, boy, it's so high.

02:24:27 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

02:24:27 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 3:

You never want to come. You never want to come. I get up from 4 in the morning, man.

02:24:33 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 1:

That, your job is way harder than our job. I mean, the fact that you're working as a welder.

02:24:39 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I heard y'all talking about that this week. I heard y'all talking about this this week.

02:24:42 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:24:42 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 4:

The temperature is over 111 degrees every day. It's brutal.

02:24:46 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Yeah. Why am I complaining? I'm such a, I literally, I'm such a, I'm a dickhead. No, I, I, that's. Hey, Cam, don't be preaching out for too many turns either.

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 2:

you have to what else i'm gonna do dickhead you gotta do it man thank thanks buddy i appreciate

02:25:07 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 3:

i appreciate your uh your calling man um texture here uh says uh here well here we go what time do you really want to go home mojo you normally if you were off on the weekends are home early you know what dickhead um that is kind of true although i stay out late on the weekends people don't understand it like people think i go to bed early our weekends consist of us you know same situation like you know it you know nothing good happens when somebody says let's go to west end or let's go to you know bar 1529 or the hell it's called in hagerty road you do stay out late though when we decide that we're all gonna just go to some place that stays

02:25:51 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 2:

open till two o'clock three o'clock you stay out late i remember driving down eight mile one day It passed, like, this male strip club, and I saw you stumbling out at, like, one in the morning. I'm like, what are you doing?

02:26:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 7:

Dick cat, dick cat, dick cat, dick cat, dick cat, dick cat, dick cat.

02:26:02 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, it's stuck.

02:26:04 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 7:

It's stuck.

02:26:06 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

You know, why do you got to be so mean?

02:26:08 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean? You stay all late.

02:26:10 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 3:

What is that song? Why you got to be so mean? Rude.

02:26:14 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 5:

Why you got to be so rude?

02:26:16 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hey, what's up, Jessica?

02:26:19 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Olivia? Hi.

02:27:21 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how are you guys?

02:27:22 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 3:

Good, what's up?

02:27:24 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 6:

Good. I was just calling because I drive a garbage truck, so I also have to wake up, like, really, really early. I think I wake up at 2.30 most days. Oh, my gosh. I drive around all day watching people pack their cars to go to the beach. I see kids outside playing in the pool and the sprinklers, and I'm just like, I want to clock out. Wow.

02:27:46 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's unbelievable. Who do you work for? What company do you work with?

02:27:49 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 6:

I work for a locally owned small business over in Whitehall, Twin Lake area. It's called Chester's.

02:27:56 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's cool that they have a female garbage woman.

02:28:01 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't think I've ever seen a garbage woman.

02:28:03 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know? That's awesome.

02:28:05 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 6:

And me and my mom both do it. So it's two of us.

02:28:08 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, fantasy. Wait. You thought it was a porn there for a second. I like it. Mom and daughter. Take him out. You know, I've never, ever gone on the keyword on Pornhub and keyword Garbage Man. Do they have Garbage Man porn? It's under Recycle. What's up, Patrick? Hi. What's going on?

02:28:29 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. I just wanted to say you guys have every right to complain. I work from home, and they're calling me into the office three days a week, and I'm already complaining and looking for a new job.

02:28:39 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Work from home life.

02:28:42 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, these people that work from home, you guys go suck a D, suck a D. I'm telling you.

02:28:51 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

We're from home, it is real, dog.

02:28:52 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 7:

I mean, we are five years past the pandemic, guys.

02:28:56 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 3:

Megan, what's going on? Hi.

02:28:58 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 7:

Hey, you could be your own boss. Yeah. Make up your own hours.

02:29:02 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 3:

You know? Is that what you do? Now you're talking.

02:29:05 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I clean houses, though. I scrub people's dirty toilets, so you might not want that.

02:29:11 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 3:

As Chelsea, you can attest to, I don't even clean my own house. So that'll be a tough one.

02:29:17 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 7:

That's why you've got to hire me, Mojo. There you go. You've got to hire me.

02:29:19 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 3:

There you go, Megan. All right.

02:29:21 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 7:

Have a great day, fellas.

02:29:22 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Megan. Have a good night. I appreciate you. Hold on. What's up, Rick? What's up, Rick?

02:29:28 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. Hi. Hey, I was just thinking, in the summertime, why don't you stagger the times you guys start your morning show? Do like a seven, a nine, seven, nine, seven? Oh, my gosh. People would be so mad.

02:29:39 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

It is routine. If you can pass that by Tony Travato at iHeartMedia.com, will you send him an email and tell him that we want to start the show a little bit later and stagger it, Rick? I can do that. I want to see Tony get the email. Rick from Fremont, send it to one. Tony Travato.

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

tony travato what's happening michael how you doing i'm good man first time

02:30:06 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 5:

what's up not much man um i'm a truck driver over here uh in northwest ohio and i wake up at like 5 a.m 4 30 in the morning 5 30 it varies and it's very different every day yeah but i have to have like five alarms set, dude, and I have it like 501, 502, 503. I feel the struggle, bro. You're not alone.

02:30:36 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 4:

Now, you know what, man? Again, like I said to the garbage woman that we were talking to just a couple of minutes ago, you guys have real jobs. You know what I mean? By the way, is there truck driver porn? It's called shifting gears. I mean, do they have that? What's up? Again, I'm fascinated by this.

02:30:56 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 3:

What's the heavy load?

02:30:58 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Vaughn? How you doing, Vaughn? Hey, what's up, man? I'm sorry for having this as my... This is my Megan Minute. What's going on?

02:31:10 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Oh, no, that's all good. It's all good. I just wanted to make a comment, man. You know, you guys are all talking about you got to work and you're missing a party. You ain't missing nothing. Why do you say that? Because, you know, I've been there, I've done that, and I've been everywhere, man.

02:31:38 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 4:

So you've been there, you've been there.

02:31:39 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 6:

There's no way. Yeah. There's always something to talk about. But, you know, when you look back at it, it's like, well, I wish I went home. You know what?

02:31:50 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 4:

That's actually not a bad point.

02:31:52 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 1:

When you wake up in the morning and you're not hungover, it is nice.

02:31:56 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 4:

There is honestly, there's a little bit to say about the fact that the next morning, everybody's slow, and it ruins them for the day, and I feel okay. But with that said, what kind of porn?

02:32:12 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 2:

See, you could have been listening to the crap the other morning shows are talking about, but you heard that on Mojo in the Morning. Happy?

02:32:19 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 4:

All right, we got a chance for you to win Tate McCray tickets. It's text to win. Text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500. And you have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the sold-out show, which I probably can't go to because it's a week's show. Tate McCrae's tickets right now. Standard text and data rates to apply. Text TATE to 95500.

02:32:41 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

02:32:44 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, what's up in the dirty?

02:32:45 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 1:

What do we think about Katy Perry and former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau? Are they dating? Was it just a dinner and a walk and a drink?

02:32:52 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 4:

They are the sexiest lesbians I have ever seen.

02:32:56 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 1:

If you heard the story that they went out to dinner in Montreal, this was more than just a fancy dinner. They went out on a walk through the Mount Royal Park beforehand. They shared everything at dinner, including cocktails, lobster and lamb gnocchi. And then they ended the evening with drinks on the terrace. So this was like a three-part day for them. Justin Trudeau paid, in case you were wondering. But lots of speculation in terms of are they friends? Was it just because she was in Canada? She has some shows there. Both are single. She ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom officially last month. He's been divorced since 2023, so I don't know. But it was the photo that was seen around the world yesterday. Interesting couple.

02:33:44 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 4:

I think that the one you just talked about last hour was even more interesting.

02:33:49 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 1:

Pam Anderson and Liam Neeson.

02:33:51 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy. They're cute. Very cute.

02:33:53 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 1:

President Trump said yesterday during an interview that Jeffrey Epstein, quote unquote, stole young women who worked for the spa at Mar-a-Lago, at his Mar-a-Lago golf club. And one of the women he did acknowledge was Virginia Dufri, who was among Epstein's most well-known sex trafficking accusers. She is the one that took her life several months ago.

02:34:14 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

In the spa. People that work in the spa. I have a great spa. One of the best spas in the world at Mar-a-Lago. And people were taken out of the spa. Hired by him. In other words, God.

02:34:49 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 1:

Mr. President, did one of those stolen persons that include Virginia, are free?

02:34:57 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I think she was. I thought he said he didn't really know him. No, no. He said that he knew him. He said he never has been on the island or whatever.

02:35:08 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 4:

Or wrote him a car, wrote him a birthday card. He said when he was on a plane, he didn't even recognize that man or know what plane he was. Now he know him well enough to tell him don't take people from his golf course. That's not what he said.

02:35:18 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 3:

That is what he said, bro. He said that he was at one point, he knew Jeffrey Epstein or what's his name?

02:35:24 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 1:

They ran in similar social circles. They were at a lot of the same events.

02:35:28 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 3:

They knew each other, and then they had a falling out. Actually, he even said that he was invited to the island at one point. Yeah, there's no way you could deny knowing him.

02:35:35 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 2:

I had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down, but a lot of people in Palm Beach were invited to his island. In one of my very good moments, I turned it down. I didn't want to go to his island. One of my good moments.

02:35:48 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 3:

They said, by the way, and I've never been to Palm Beach before, but I heard it's very nice, But they say that the most of that area knew two of the most notorious people, Epstein and Bernie Madoff. Like if you lived or have had any family members or whatever that resided in Palm Beach, that those two guys were like the most popular people. And they would, I think, what's his name? The guy that I talked about that did all the stealing of money from people. I think he stole money from like even Epstein. Really? Bernie Madoff? Yeah, Bernie Madoff.

02:36:27 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 1:

Spotted at the Atlanta Dream Golden State Valkyries WNBA game last night. Boy. A neon green dildo. What?

02:36:37 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Where do you get one of those? They sell that at the concession stand?

02:36:39 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, it is Atlanta.

02:36:40 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 1:

I mean.

02:36:41 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 4:

That boy flew from the rafters.

02:36:43 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 3:

Somebody actually threw it on the court?

02:36:44 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 4:

Bro, it came from like the top level. Security had to come out and get it. How do you sneak a dildo in?

02:36:50 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. That's interesting. Do they not? Are they not? Probably not that hard.

02:36:54 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 1:

Huh? Get it? That was such a cap joke. Hold on. That deserves better. I'm laughing. No, hold on. Hold on.

02:37:02 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

I heard it was used. You know what's funny? A dildo on the hardwood? No. Crazy. Did you see the one the other day where the wig came off?

02:37:13 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes. That was disrespectful.

02:37:15 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 4:

That's not defense.

02:37:16 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 3:

That was like a brawl. Yes. Who was it, by the way? Who was the person?

02:37:21 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 4:

I think they played on the Chicago Sky. I'm not sure her name, but I think that was the team that was.

02:37:26 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:37:27 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 4:

But the girl reached out because she was getting beat. The defender reached out trying to get over a pick, which is when someone blocks you from your defender, and reached out on her arm, I guess, to try to grab the girl's arm to stop her, but she grabbed her hair and the wig fell off. She had to run in the back and get it on.

02:37:43 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Do they say it in the audio that I sent the other day or no?

02:37:47 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I'll be careful with the audio you send it.

02:37:49 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 3:

Why do you say that?

02:37:51 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 4:

Because you be sending some stuff.

02:37:53 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they had the audio. They were doing the play-by-play, and you could see the play-by-play person going, I think we got to take a timeout or something like that. Phoenix Mercury. Is that what it was? Yeah. By the way, that's something interesting to add to the WNBA, hair pulling.

02:38:09 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 4:

They've been pulling a lot of hair. This is the first one that actually came off, though.

02:38:12 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because you see in men's, they grab jerseys and stuff on all the time, too. But in women's, they're pulling hair.

02:38:20 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, there are some calls this morning to boycott Ulta. And the calls are growing since the company's decision to partner with Netflix star and podcaster Jonathan Van Ness. You can buy his JVN hair brand at Ulta. And I don't get this, but there are women specifically on TikTok who are saying the ad for Jonathan's stuff is front and center when you walk into Ulta stores right now, which it is. And their issue with it is that there are a lot of female models who would die for a modeling gig in this campaign. And instead, it's Jonathan modeling, which it should be, I feel like. But people are saying that like there's the one girl and I listened to her spiel about this. And she's saying, you know, all of these big companies are now part of these woke feminist movements where women can do anything. We're empowering women and women are amazing. However, they turn around and give the biggest job opportunities, in this case, a modeling gig to men. So if you're seeing Boycott Ulta, excuse me, trending on social media, TikTok, whatever, that's the reason why. And they're saying, do just like people did to Budweiser with the whole Dylan Mulvaney thing. Now we need to do it with Ulta because of this.

02:39:34 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 4:

I think Lydia sent some tweet or some report out there the other day about how, I think it was Vogue Magazine was in trouble for using AI as models.

02:39:43 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're doing that now.

02:39:45 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Tomorrow, War of the Roses. Be listening tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 o'clock. Actually, it's the debut of Bianca doing the War of the Roses because of, remember when we used to have KP call and talk to the guys?

02:41:53 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 2:

I loved those ones.

02:41:54 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 6:

We had a scenario came up. A scenario. We had an...

02:41:59 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 2:

It's fancy for scenario. Yeah. It's French for scenario.

02:42:02 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 6:

We had a War of the Roses entry that came in where the guy is featured on... What's that app called that all the girls love to go on and give crap about people? The T app? They love to go on the T app and they like to talk crap about this guy. Well, she found that her boyfriend was on there, and interesting, he was legit screwing around with girls and flirting with them and stuff. So we got his phone number, and we actually made the call, and you got to hear what transpired afterwards. You got to hear what Bianca did a great job with it. It was really, really good. That's tomorrow. Make sure you're listening. Real quick with the T-app, I saw this week that people who are on the T-app, they got hacked.

02:42:55 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I did see that.

02:42:57 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the database for the T-app, there was a exposure that happened. And here's the story. The T-app's data breach has gone into an even larger leak with stolen data now shared on hacking forums and a second database discovered containing 1.5 million private messages exchanged

02:43:23 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 2:

between map app members. Well, and that must be the second piece of it. Cause I remember the story a couple of days ago was that it was, I think to be on there, don't you have to upload a photo of yourself holding your driver's license or something? So it was all those photos and

02:43:38 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 6:

everything that's on your driver's license all women the t app is a women-only dating safety platform where members can share reviews about men with access to the platform only granted after providing a selfie in your government issued id on friday an anonymous user posted on 4chan which by the way that 4chan still around what is that well that was always isn't 4chan like a chinese app that where they sound like it i don't want to be like you know i think that the no i think 4chan is the one where they people go on there and they do things that are illegal to talk about and do it's the dark web yeah um and uh they showed that they had information about these women who were on this app and talking about guys that had done them wrong well now They're saying that they also not only have the information, private information of these people. They also have some of the private messages that are going back and forth. And now they're going to release some of those messages. Now, here's the thing. I hate to say this, and I'm not one that ever wants to do a I told you so thing. But if you're going to go on to an app and you're going to use the app as a way to talk about.

02:45:00 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 5:

people that are out there you got to understand there's a very good possibility somebody's going to be talking about you including the people that are going to be talking about the stuff that is out about you um and uh that's why i don't mess with this stuff i call that karma and i hate to say this i think that it's bad that these guys are horrible human beings and the guys that are legitimately doing bad things but i think that there are people on this app that probably are not necessarily as bad as they're claiming them to be and this is a way for people to uh to shame

02:45:35 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 4:

them yeah because you're getting one side of the story nobody on there probably is admitting their part in what ultimately was a bad relationship and hopefully i'm not gonna say hopefully i want to know if there's a world where the hackers release all this information well they're slowly

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 5:

doing it they're showing basically they have it yeah okay but the thing is from the way i understand

02:45:57 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 7:

in the t-app some of these people who had the selfies and the licenses leaked they they might not be on there talking about people they might be on there wanting to know about people right well it could be they could very well be wanting to know if the guy that they're dating you know

02:46:13 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 5:

has any anything on there about him so they're just innocent but with that said are you truly that innocent if you are you are you on that app for the sake of trying to you know go out there and spread rumors and gossip about somebody else i don't know my mom always used to say she used to say if you don't don't play in the street tommy no my dad would say play in the street i was like dad why are you doing the opposite of what mom's wanting to do leak them amanda what are your thoughts on this what's up good morning everybody hi

02:46:49 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 6:

hi well i never had to use my id to get on the app i just had to ask a bunch of questions or answer a bunch of questions oh really never if i yeah if i had to use my id i would never even signed up for it huh i wonder why some people did and some people didn't lydia and bianca you're on

02:47:06 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 5:

the t app aren't you yeah i am well i was i was i was what what happened you're no longer on there

02:47:12 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

no because i got exposed some guy knew i posted him so he called me out on it and i felt bad

02:47:18 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 5:

so I just deleted it. Okay, so did you have to show your ID when you were joining that app?

02:47:23 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and Lydia was actually with me when I was taking a picture of my ID, but she made a smart move and she actually kind of called out that they might take my information beforehand. I didn't think so, but anyway, when I took my ID picture, I covered up like my address and stuff

02:47:39 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 5:

and like my ID number, so it's just my picture. Okay, so you can do that and they don't double

02:47:47 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 2:

check well yeah i think they just want to see like it's your picture like it's your it's your

02:47:52 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 5:

face you know what i would do is i would show them my you know college or yeah college uh id or yeah

02:47:58 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 6:

costco card's a great one you know what i mean i thought you're going somewhere else i saw some

02:48:03 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 2:

guys i was gonna show my d instead of my id i saw some pictures and i'd be on that for sure you saw what'd you see bianca so i saw on like some of the leaked photos guys were literally wearing wigs and then they were just taking their pictures that way and that's how they were

02:48:20 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 5:

getting through huh that's interesting so quick question why are you on there amanda what was your reasoning for wanting to be on the t app i was actually trying to help a friend sure and what

02:48:33 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 6:

was the the friend needing information about to see if her boyfriend was talking to anybody else

02:48:39 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 5:

oh really couldn't find anything no uh do you so you went on there and then looked up this guy's number and name and all that stuff and didn't see anything, huh?

02:48:49 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I couldn't find him. I definitely wouldn't have done it if I had to use my ID because I'm married and I don't need it. But if I post anything, it's anonymous.

02:48:59 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 4:

It's what?

02:49:01 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 6:

Anonymous.

02:49:03 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, you don't say anything.

02:49:05 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 4:

I did not say that earlier.

02:49:07 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 5:

Quality insurance.

02:49:09 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 4:

I did it. I just said it quickly. I said quality insurance. Thank you, Amanda.

02:49:14 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 6:

And have a good day, guys.

02:49:16 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 5:

We appreciate you so much.

02:49:18 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 3:

Download Tee. You can literally look up so many things. It was marketed as an app for women to talk safely and anonymously about the men they're dating. Just download the Tee app, type in his name, and you can literally see if he has red flags or green flags. Now it's a nationwide security nightmare.

02:49:34 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 1:

What are we doing about the Tee app leak? Like, this is not okay.

02:49:40 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 3:

The T-app announcing a massive data breach to their systems last week. Roughly 72,000 images, including 13,000 verification selfies and images of government IDs, have been leaked online. The company adding today some private direct messages were also accessed in the breach, and they have since disabled that function.

02:49:59 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Unfortunately.

02:50:00 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 6:

the T app was not secured the way that it was supposed to. They didn't encrypt or protect that data. T says, quote, during our early stages of development, some legacy content was not migrated into our new fortified system. An unauthorized actor accessed our identifier link where data was stored before February 24th, 2024. Launched in 2023, the app was advertised as a safe space for women to find out more information about the men they're dating by comparing notes with other women and offering self-described dating safety tools like background checks, sex offender and criminal record searches, and catfish image searches. All you have to do is drop in his name into T's criminal record search. The T community had more than four million users, exploding in recent weeks, surging to the number one spot in the Apple App Store. But now, troves of personal information of some of those users available for anyone to see online. A Google map that allegedly shows the addresses of users, as well as a website called T-Spill that allows anyone to rate the leaked selfie of T-App users. I was racking my brain, feeling anxiety about, oh my gosh, like my information might be leaked out there. This TikToker, instead of using her real name, prefers to go by her username, person with job, has used the T-App for about six months. It was really to just quickly search who I was matching with on dating apps. But now she's concerned her information could be out there, too. There's a lot of trust that has been lost through this whole experience. T says the breach only affects users who signed up before February 2024, and they have, quote, engaged third-party cybersecurity experts and are working around the clock to secure their systems.

02:51:43 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 7:

When a data breach like this happens, it really is scary for the users because you can't just go and change your address. that's where you live and there's a physical security risk there the t-app now desperately

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 6:

trying to contain this sensitive spill of information now if you're watching and you're

02:52:01 - 02:52:26 | Speaker 5:

among those impacted we asked our expert who told us there are three things that you should do immediately the first freeze your credit the second lock down any information from data brokerage sites you can do that individually you can request your information to be taken down or you can pay a data breach removal tool to do it for you and lastly make sure you are using long random unique passwords that you are changing frequently but of course tom make sure you keep track of all

02:52:26 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 3:

those passwords wow listen i'm gonna say this uh i feel bad for anybody that gets hacked um but if you're the person that's getting hacked because you're out there you know spreading rumor and gossip about somebody else i don't know maybe i don't feel so bad i feel bad you know for those that honestly are just going on there just to see if their spouse is doing something or ex is doing something. What percentage

02:52:51 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 2:

of people you think really doing that? Like the innocent, let me just

02:52:55 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 1:

see if... Well, like that one girl in the clip where she was like, I go on there really quickly to just run the names of the guys that I match with on dating apps. I get that. Yeah. I get that that

02:53:09 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 3:

would be... But I think that there's a lot of people that are haters that are probably on there. Oh, and they're just roasting their exes on there my my most interesting time is whenever we have talked about the t-app how many times the t-app will then talk about mojo in the morning talking about the t-app and they'll get mad at us and then we'll go hey did you guys know that they're talking crap about mojo in the morning on the t-app uh what's up chelsea hi hey i just want to know what like

02:53:35 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 4:

sad pathetic weak man got upset for being exposed and then tried to go in and like steal all this information i will tell you which one some guy that's good with computers

02:53:47 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 3:

you know what i mean like these hackers how do we why are we assuming it's a man that did it why why are we not assuming that it's a woman a smart woman that's doing it huh i mean here's the thing

02:53:59 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 4:

i a hurt man yeah uh who can be inappropriate yeah tends to do stupid and illegal things

02:54:09 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 3:

Is there a backstory here? I know.

02:54:11 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 1:

I feel like you're being very specific.

02:54:13 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask you. Name Dave? No. You're on.

02:54:17 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 1:

From Shelby?

02:54:20 - 02:54:32 | Speaker 4:

I've worked in technology, and let's just say, like, usually when someone is abusing tech, it is one gender and not the other. Usually. Not always.

02:54:32 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. Okay, question for you, Chelsea. You're on the T app, obviously. Do you find anything out?

02:54:38 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not.

02:54:38 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 3:

No? Okay, I was going to want...

02:54:40 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm not on this yet.

02:54:41 - 02:54:46 | Speaker 3:

I want to know if you found anything out about somebody that you've dated. You know, but I...

02:54:46 - 02:54:51 | Speaker 4:

No, honestly, I consider myself lucky.

02:54:52 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:54:52 - 02:54:57 | Speaker 4:

I found a guy right out of high school, and we've been together for over 10 years.

02:54:57 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Sure. No, that's good. That's good. I like that.

02:55:00 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 2:

My problem with this, though, is to me, the T-app, there is no difference between the people doing this in the T-app and those people that go on social media under an anonymous, you know, fake account and write nasty crap all the time about people. And I just think that we live in such a world of hurt and hate. If the person is going to be a cheater and do all that stuff, you know what? He'll meet his maker someday. But you don't have to go down that road with them.

02:55:28 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 4:

And how do you even know it's legit? Like, that's the thing that scares me.

02:55:31 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 2:

I think there's a lot of, honestly, defamatory things that probably are said.

02:55:35 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:55:36 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 2:

But with that said, we love the T-app. Please don't say bad things about Mojo in the morning. That always happens to us. Every time we talk about the T-app, all of a sudden somebody will come to us like three days later and go, did you hear that the T-app just found out that Lydia's on there? I remember it was back when Ellen was here. Ellen was on the T app and she brought something up on the show.

02:55:59 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 4:

And then the next thing you know, Ellen got a whole Reddit board about it. And it was on the T app. Yeah, it was crazy.

02:56:04 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 1:

Well, I got banned from that. Are we dating the same guy? Yes. Yes. I forgot about that.

02:56:09 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 2:

That was a crazy one, too. All right. We'll be back with more Mojo in the Morning. Second date update next.

02:56:14 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 1:

Why aren't you getting a call back?

02:56:16 - 02:56:18 | Unknown:

Why did she call me back?

02:56:18 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 1:

We'll find out next with Mojo in the Morning's second date update.

02:56:21 - 02:56:23 | Unknown:

She was going to have my babies.

02:56:23 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 1:

it's the second date update on mojo in the morning second date update not getting a call

02:56:29 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 2:

back you went on a date and then you started thinking this could actually be something and then all of a sudden no call on the phone with us is paul he's getting ghosted and this is the interesting thing paul and stacy both recently got divorced and are back in the dating scene So both of you guys have this as a date to get to go out and see each other. That had to be cool, huh? How's it like dating again, Paul?

02:57:01 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 3:

It's a little weird. I'm not going to lie. But, you know, you get used to it, and it's just kind of reverting back 20 years ago or so. Yeah. Not terrible.

02:57:10 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 2:

How long were you married before you ended up getting divorced?

02:57:14 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 3:

12 years, and we were together for 15. Wow. It's been a while. I've been out of the pool for a while, and everything's changed. So, you know, a little different.

02:57:22 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to find out exactly why Stacey has been kind of slow to get back to you. Stacey is on the phone with us right now. Stacey, will you say hey to Paul?

02:57:31 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you? Hi, hello.

02:57:35 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 2:

So I have no idea what you guys did on your date, but I'm going to find out, first off, why Stacey's not returning calls and then ask questions about the date. Stacey, why are you slow to get back to Paul?

02:57:48 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 4:

well uh let me just say the date was fine i mean it was it was good we had good chemistry

02:57:57 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 2:

what what did you guys do did you guys go out just for dinner and drinks what did you do

02:58:02 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 4:

yeah so we had met at a bar a few weeks ago and then we went to dinner um recently um had a nice

02:58:11 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 2:

dinner okay and then what did you do at the end of the date did you guys leave or did you guys go

02:58:16 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 4:

back to to another place and go what'd you do well like i said the chemistry was really good so um

02:58:25 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 2:

i followed him back to his house yeah oh okay this is where it gets fun okay let me change the music

02:58:33 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 4:

here this is where the the good music what happened when once you guys got to his house uh yeah see that's the whole thing uh we walked into his house and sitting right there in the family room his babysitter and kids

02:58:52 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 2:

okay so he had a babysitter there watching his children at his house and you and when you were going back to his house were you thinking that you were going back to his house to get romantic

02:59:05 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 4:

with him or what were you thinking definitely and he did not mention one time that his babysitter and kids would be there when we walked in the door so what did you guys do then did you just hang out with him and his kids or his babysitter no he immediately pulled the babysitter into the kitchen and then next thing you know they're walking down to what i'm assuming is the basement

02:59:32 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 2:

because he went down the stairs who's walking down the babysitter and the kids okay so they

02:59:39 - 02:59:54 | Speaker 4:

go downstairs so they and where do you guys go well nowhere he came up to me and i'm asking him hey what's going on he said no it's cool i sent the sitter and the kids down to the basement

02:59:54 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 2:

for a while so we're good and then what was what was the intention after that

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 1:

that i that i guess that we would go up to his room and continue the evening oh no paul is that

03:00:10 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 6:

the case yeah paul yeah that's absolutely that's absolutely the case yes oh god paul you have been

03:00:19 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 3:

out of the game so so wait so your kids are with the babysitter in the basement and you're going to go then upstairs so you'll be two floors away from your children while you and stacy are are

03:00:33 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 6:

together yes i mean that's that's where my life is and that's really the only option i had there's

03:00:39 - 03:00:47 | Speaker 3:

not much else i could have done at that point first off i'm kind of shocked that you would want to introduce a new woman to your kids on a first date like this

03:00:47 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 6:

like she said it was going well i mean i you know there was momentum and i wanted to keep momentum going and i i didn't know really what other options i had so i was just you know

03:00:59 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 2:

improvising at that point i gotta be honest man that is awkward though i just meeting the kids after only you know knowing her for a couple of hours 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 oh i just think that's the greatest your kids are your kids had to have known like well like where do they think dad was going and what dad was doing well i'm honest with them i mean i said dad's going out

03:01:27 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 6:

with a friend you know it's been some time and and we talked about it i mean i'm trying to be transparent yeah you know again i it's the cost of dinner the cost of what were we going to go to a hotel i mean it's just i'm not that guy to spend that much you know and i was trying to

03:01:42 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 3:

in the moment do the best i could this is what i'm picturing he's gonna say kids go down in the In the basement, me and Miss Stacy are going to. I love when people do that. Yeah. We're going to go hang out.

03:01:59 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 4:

I mean, what else is he supposed to do in that situation, though?

03:02:02 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 3:

Don't bring him back to the house.

03:02:04 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah, I guess that's right.

03:02:06 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 3:

You'll go to her house if she's got nobody at her house. Park the car somewhere. Yeah.

03:02:11 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. Park the car somewhere.

03:02:13 - 03:02:23 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Wayne wants to comment. Wayne, what do you think they should have done? He should have went and got a hotel real quick. Yeah, this is the best time in the world to go to a Hampton Inn, right?

03:02:24 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, or Holiday Inn, you know?

03:02:26 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Holiday Inn Express, you know?

03:02:28 - 03:02:29 | Speaker 7:

Breakfast in the morning.

03:02:29 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 3:

This is an opportunity here. This is where the babysitter comes into play and stays with the kids until morning. What's up, Dave? How you doing?

03:02:38 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 7:

Good, how are you? I just wanted to ask him, why didn't you see what she had going on at her house? That was my question.

03:02:45 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:02:46 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 7:

Paul, why did that? I wasn't invited.

03:02:48 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so he didn't want to be too forward.

03:02:52 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 7:

He was moving quick.

03:02:53 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:02:54 - 03:02:58 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I got the kids at the house. Would it be okay if we went back to yours?

03:02:59 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know, man. I got to tell you, he's got a good babysitter.

03:03:03 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 2:

Or even just to prepare her that there are kids and a babysitter there. So she could make the decision.

03:03:09 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 3:

Natalie's fired up here. What's up, Natalie?

03:03:12 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 1:

Morning. That guy gives me the ick so bad. Ew.

03:03:16 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 3:

A little too much for you that he wants to have some fun with Stacy while the kids are down in the basement? Miss Stacy. Watching movies with the babysitter?

03:03:28 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 1:

You could literally do anything else. Anything else than be like, yeah, sorry, my children are downstairs. And they might hear us, you know, baking cookies, but it's fine.

03:03:40 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 2:

It's fine. Part of me feels a little bit bad for Paul because he's admitted he's been out of the game for a while.

03:03:48 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he didn't know what to do. He should have honestly just ended the date and had another date.

03:03:53 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 4:

He's excited about the end of the date.

03:03:56 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Let the kids, you know, go to mom's house and do another date. What's up, Eric? Hi.

03:04:02 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 5:

Hey, just for future reference, or what's his name? Paul.

03:04:07 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:04:08 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 5:

Paul, Paul, Paul, just for future reference Because I know the cost of dinner and the price of hotels are ridiculous. But if you go to some places, there's actually hotels that you can rent by the hour. So then that way, you can save a lot of money. Do they really?

03:04:20 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 3:

And they have jacuzzis in them. Aren't those the prostitution hotels? Do they still do that at certain hotels? I thought people just went there for naps. I don't know. For naps. Yeah, truckers just hang out there. What is the jacuzzi place? Isn't there a pass by 108 mile the other day? What's up, Ace?

03:04:36 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 4:

Hey, man, Paul needs to, like, get some single friends so he can brush up on his etiquette.

03:04:42 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, etiquette. Borrow the bed of a single friend.

03:04:47 - 03:04:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Paul rushing into the thing. You got to take his time and figure out the new groundwork. It's a new area, Paul.

03:04:55 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Texter here says, 810 says, should have pulled a shambler.

03:05:00 - 03:05:02 | Speaker 5:

Shannon and Wes, and went to church.

03:05:02 - 03:05:03 | Speaker 3:

Went to church. Go to church. That's what I said.

03:05:04 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 5:

Church, yes.

03:05:05 - 03:05:06 | Speaker 2:

Parking lot of church.

03:05:06 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 5:

It's always a good place. Richard, what's up, Richard?

03:05:09 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo, in the morning? What's happening? Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I, we send the kids outside all the time to get one in.

03:05:23 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 5:

But that's what you do with your wife and their mother. You know what I mean? Like, you don't bring some strange back to the house and then all of a sudden throw...

03:05:33 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, before she was my wife, I did. Did you? With the kids? With my first son. Really? With my son, yeah.

03:05:40 - 03:05:42 | Speaker 3:

How old was he, though, at the time?

03:05:43 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 2:

He was probably like, let's see, that would have been... He would have been 10.

03:05:50 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, so aware.

03:05:51 - 03:05:56 | Speaker 5:

That's crazy. To me, that's crazy to do that. Rachel, what's up? Be like that sometimes.

03:05:56 - 03:06:15 | Speaker 1:

The first time when I heard him say it, like, he was going upstairs, I immediately said, Ewa! Like, it's like, babysitter, take the kids downstairs. I'm going to go up and do this woman. I'm going to let you know when you can go home. What are you going to do, come down, dress like Hugh Hefner? I said, okay, I'm done. You can email.

03:06:16 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 5:

This is like the start of some kind of porn or something, isn't it? All right, so, Stacy, good luck to you in the future. Paul, I hope you learned a lesson.

03:06:26 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Thank you.

03:06:29 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 5:

Awesome.
