00:00:46 - 00:00:47 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:00:51 - 00:00:52 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:00:52 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. All right, I'm going to share this because it was bothering me because it happened this morning and it happened earlier in the week. Do you guys remember when you were younger and you would be over at like a boyfriend or girlfriend's house or friend's house in general and you had a curfew and your curfew was that you had to come home at a certain hour and you would overstay your curfew, but it wasn't because you were doing it intentionally. It would be because you fell asleep at their house. like maybe you're watching a movie or doing other stuff who knows well this has happened uh to my son who has been over at a friend's house and uh he the last couple of uh times now this is the second time he uh came home this morning like when I was getting up to go to work like I actually got scared I uh the other day it got me when all of a sudden I see the door opening up and I'm like holy crap who's coming in house because i think you know i go to bed at nine nine thirty and i'm thinking everybody's in bed not realizing he's not home and here he comes a sneaking into the house and uh i'm like holy crap what are you doing and he's like i just fell asleep and i'm like all right go to bed you know whatever we'll talk later yeah well it happened again today and now i gotta have to have a little conversation with him because this ain't happening i don't have a curfew i when he's not necessarily a curfew but we want him home in a decent hour like i just let you know if he's not going to come home well typically he doesn't uh like to stay at other people's homes he only does it if he's going to a buddy's house and i know that they're going to be like drinking i always say to him you cannot come home like you got to wait until you know the next day to come home yeah like if i know because we're not you know living with our head in the sand you know we know that he's going to have a maybe a drink on or something but um uh in he comes home probably like one o'clock or two or or not two o'clock one it's usually like 12 or one o'clock that's usually like the time that'll come home because chelsea can't go to bed until he goes yeah so long story uh short the worst part of this whole thing and the reason why this actually makes me more pissed off is because i did it when i was dating chelsea oh yeah oh like father Everybody's done it. It wasn't me coming home late. It was, I remember Chels would be over at my apartment, and she lived with her parents. And I remember we would be watching TV, or at that time it was probably watching a movie, on a VHS tape. Okay. You remember VHS tapes? Pulling up the sleeve. Oh, yeah.

00:03:33 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 4:

Make sure it's rewound.

00:03:34 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 3:

You put it in there, and all of a sudden the thing goes. um so we'd be watching like a movie and then all of a sudden she would go oh my god crap and like she would get up and be freaking out and be like what and she'd be like you know i overslept whatever and she would have to go home and she'd have to go sneak back in the house before my father-in-law he wasn't my father-in-law at the time he was my wanted to kill me guy yeah joe was not a fan of me because I was the radio DJ that was dating his daughter. She was lost in your arms. She was lost in my arms, exactly. And lost track of time. And we were just truly watching a movie. You know what I mean? Nobody believed that. That's not a euphemism.

00:04:17 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 4:

You tell her dad that we were just watching a movie. Well, it's funny because the same. I used to do that too, but I would not believe that if one of my kids eventually says that to me. Come on. But I know I used to do it in high school. I would fall asleep at my high school boyfriend's house, and I did have a curfew, and then I would wake up at, you know, 2, 3 in the morning. And I didn't have a cell phone at the time, so it wasn't even like my mom could get a hold of me, but I would go home and sneak into bed and pray that she didn't hear me. And then when I was in college and I would come home in the summer from college, I was dating a guy one summer who lived in Madison Heights. Now, I lived in Grosseal. So if I fell asleep at his house, and I had an internship. Timing-wise, explain the timing

00:04:55 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 3:

for anybody that's out in...

00:04:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

That's a good 40, 45 minutes. It's not a quick...

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 2:

At least in the middle of the night. It was probably 45 minutes on 75. But I would wake up. Oh, my God. I fell asleep. Wake up, have to drive down to Grosse Seal. And then I would have to be up because I had an internship in Detroit. Yeah. So I would sleep for a couple of hours, change, and go. But that was never good when I did that.

00:05:20 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 5:

I never had that kind of life. Like, especially in high school, like, I was so, like, focused on my acting. and I wasn't, like, the most scholastic student, but, like, when I was in high school, I didn't do much, like, craziness until I got older, like, in my 20s and stuff like that. I never really had a curfew because it was never something, like, my mom had to worry about. Really? But as I started to get older, this happened so many times to the point where, like, when I had jobs, I used to just throw extra clothes in the car just in case something like that happened where I fell asleep or woke up and I needed to go straight to work.

00:05:51 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, you didn't have a curfew? Never. My mom was like, your curfew is 11, which means you are in the house at 11. You are not in the driveway at 11. You are face-to-face with me at 11.

00:06:01 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

We used to say that, too. And obviously, when they were even younger, like Luke is, you know, he's in college, so he's going to be a junior in college. So we would say that all the time because it was always Chelsea would say that famous line that her mom used to say, nothing good happens after midnight. Yeah, legs in liquor stores.

00:06:18 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 5:

The only thing that's open after two.

00:06:22 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Here's what I would love to hear. I would like to know if there is anyone listening who, and this is a long shot, anyone listening who is driving home from a different direction right now, who is listening to the show right now that overslept at somebody's house or who stayed over at somebody's house last night and is now driving home from a different direction. Because I will tell you that that is also another feeling too. Do you ever have that happen to you where your routine kind of screws up? He's got his internship this morning, too. Like, Luke's got to go to work here in an hour or so.

00:06:58 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 5:

It'd be all right. Luke seems like the type of guy that can pull it together.

00:07:00 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:01 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 5:

You know what I mean? I will say this, though, because I do remember one situation with my dad, and I was in high school. This was like graduation summer type of thing.

00:07:09 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:10 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 5:

And I didn't call and say I was going to be out all night. I remember I had my Sony Ericsson, my flip phone, the little gray boy, singular wireless. Wow. And he made me put him on speakerphone, yelled at everybody in the car, Bring Kevin ass home. No, no. I'm so embarrassed. I can totally see your dad. I'm talking about waiting on the front porch. Like, oh my God.

00:07:33 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Your impersonation of your dad is dead on. It is. That is dead on. I'm so embarrassed. Text your ear 586 says VHS and chill. That's crazy. No, that's pretty damn funny. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I felt like I needed to be like Lydia's dad, George, and call, like, remember the other day on the show? Need to call and go, where the hell are you?

00:08:02 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys want to know something funny? I would listen to the show as I was driving home from my boyfriend's house at, like, 6 o'clock in my morning. Oh, my gosh.

00:08:09 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

So this time in the morning?

00:08:12 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, in the summer. My dad had no idea where I was sleeping.

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

00:08:17 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 2:

I'm surprised your dad didn't show up at this person's house.

00:08:20 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

No, my mom would know, but she would cover for me.

00:08:22 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 4:

Where did your dad think you were?

00:08:24 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

My friend's house.

00:08:25 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

So he thought you were at some girl friend's house, not some guy's house.

00:08:29 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

And if I say I'm staying at, like, one of my Chaldean friend's house, it makes it that much better. He doesn't question me.

00:08:34 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lydia. Lydia, look where you have gone. Now I've got to worry about this even more. This is crazy. I always thought that Lydia was, like, the sweet girl that just goes to church. I didn't realize that she's out there fornicating. By the way, John 316 says.

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 5:

For God so loved the world.

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 1:

That he gave his only son.

00:08:54 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's not. Okay. Matthew 2. I'm trying to see one that you don't know.

00:09:01 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 5:

Do you think less people or parents reach out and question where their children are because of, like, life alert and 360s?

00:09:08 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, if I would have known that he was not home, I would have actually done that because I thought he was home. Honestly, I thought he was upstairs. I had no clue until the door opened up. Kenyatta, what's happening?

00:09:22 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning. How are you doing? Do you ever have to worry about this with your daughter? My baby's 16. She don't even like to go nowhere. She better not. By the way, you know what I like? She's too busy.

00:09:36 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 4:

I like that these teenage kids nowadays just want to stay home. Well, your daughter's active, man. You got her in a bunch of stuff, don't you?

00:09:45 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then she asked me the other day, Mom, can I go to the library with my friends? We want to get you started before the summer starts. Excuse me?

00:09:51 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. Good for Kennedy. Are you sure that Kennedy's that good of a kid? Or is the library code for some boys?

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 2:

house nah no because i got like 360 so i see her at the bluefield library i need you to do me a

00:10:07 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:

favor okay i need you to be uh like a an aunt to luke be auntie to him all right check on it

00:10:14 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 2:

and i didn't do this kind of stuff i was scared of my mama my mama would have killed me if i came

00:10:19 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 1:

in exactly don't mess with mama love you kenyatta what's happening michelle hi hi i just wanted to

00:10:27 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 2:

share one story my son missed curfew one time and one time only we had a curfew and it wasn't really early it was midnight and at 1201 he was not in the door and i got up i got in my car i drove to his buddy's house where he was supposed to be banged on the door nobody answered i rang that doorbell like a crazy woman until i woke the parents up and it was not really pleasant for the child, my child, the parents. He never got invited back over there again, but he never did the curfew again. Oh, my God.

00:11:03 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm a crazy. You're not joking around. Michelle's at the front

00:11:06 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

door. I will F you up, bitch.

00:11:09 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I want my kid out here now. That's funny, and they didn't invite him over afterwards. They're like, you're the kid of the crazy mom there. That's funny. Alright, well, you know what? The life of being a parent is always so fun, isn't it? It's a wonderful thing. You think Josiah will do any of this stuff?

00:11:28 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Josiah's still up right now, too, probably.

00:11:34 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen? What year was this for a chance to win tickets to see Nelly and Ja Rule? Remember Cameron Diaz? She talked about growing up in the Philippines in this year. This is going to be a tougher back in the day?

00:11:53 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

I haven't been to the Philippines, but I grew up with a lot of Filipinos. Really? Yes. My best friend that I grew up next door to was her best friend from the Philippines. The Philippines. And Lumpia.

00:12:05 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, come on. What is she, talk with an accent?

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 3:

Every single day.

00:12:09 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Kate Upton and Leslie Mann starred in The Other Woman.

00:12:13 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 3:

She's just working through some stuff right now. She's kind of troubled.

00:12:18 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 1:

But you smell amazing. What is that?

00:12:20 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 3:

I think it's just sweat.

00:12:23 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 1:

And the big song? Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Caleb, what year was that? 2014. Yes! Come on, Caleb! 2014. Congratulations. You got the tickets, man. We're sending you up with the tickets to go see Nelly and Ja Rule at Pine Knob. Congrats. Thank you. Thank you, guys. Have a great morning. Be careful of all that standing water out there, man. Billy, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Not much. How's it going? It's going okay, Billy. Talking about, you know, my son coming home a little late, missing the curfew. What's going on?

00:13:09 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I had no curfew, man. I actually, my parents left me alone when I was 15. They went to Malaysia.

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:13:15 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 4:

I was barren for like three months.

00:13:18 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. For three months? Your parents? when you were 15 years old said sayonara Billy we're heading over to Malaysia and they left for three months and you lived in the house by yourself yeah my dad he uh rewired a factory

00:13:32 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

over there my mom missed him so she wanted to go over there and I wanted to go to summer school

00:13:36 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 1:

to get some extra credits before I started high school unbelievable 15 wait you started high school at 15 years old where you held back a few years or what no I'm just kidding I was going I

00:13:47 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 4:

I was trying to get in with all the seniors.

00:13:49 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. What did you eat? I almost caught that one. What did you eat? Raccoons. Yeah. How did you provide?

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 4:

My name is McCauley.

00:14:02 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 1:

Did they give you a lot of food? Did they leave you a lot of food and money and everything like that just to kind of have fun?

00:14:09 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I had a freezer full of steak and everything.

00:14:12 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Did you have girls over all the time?

00:14:15 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 4:

I had parties every night.

00:14:17 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Did you really?

00:14:19 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 4:

It was like Risky Business and all the movies in the 80s all put together.

00:14:24 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Did you drink a lot of Schlitz beer at that time, or what kind of beer were we drinking?

00:14:30 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 4:

Keystone Light. Keystone Light is a great idea. It just came out, and it was cheap.

00:14:35 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 1:

I love it. What else could a 15-year-old afford?

00:14:39 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

It's like Home Alone or something. Well, we'd go to summer school, and then during the break, I'd go to my house real quick and drink four beers as fast as I could and then go back to summer school. Oh, my God.

00:14:48 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 1:

This is insane. That's fantastic. Billy, you're a character. Billy's got to be on with us more often. Misfit Billy. Hold on one second, Billy. We want to make him a misfit. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. We're going to give you a chance to win Tate McCray tickets. It's text to win, text greedy, G-R-E-E-D-Y, right? I guess that's how she spells it. Greedy, text greedy, like her song title, to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply, and you could be seeing the sold-out Tate McCray concert. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon's going to get us up on what's going on. What do you have in this dirty shit?

00:15:24 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay, this is very interesting to me. after facing some pretty major backlash on his Forget Tomorrow tour, with fans calling his performances lazy. He wasn't even really singing. He was letting the audience sing. People were walking out mid-show. Ticket prices were slashed because they weren't selling Justin Timberlake. Now allegedly believes his future lies within sync. And insiders tell me that disappointing fan reactions have really kind of made him realize that audiences want the full group right now, not just him solo. Also, his DUI arrest last summer, that kind of added to this turmoil. So he now plans to rest, recoup, probably, possibly, I should say, film a couple of things. And then regroup with JC, Lance, Joey, and Chris, either for a full-blown tour or most likely for a Vegas-style residency. And the goal is to reinvigorate his career, one, and also ride the wave of successful group reunions like the Backstreet Boys just did at the Sphere in Vegas.

00:16:32 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, he's kind of turned into a mess. And this is probably the smartest thing to do. But, God, you hope he just pulls his act together a little bit. But I think they would do great. Yeah.

00:16:42 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. It would be huge. I kind of feel like it's, I'm not going to say it's two years too late, but when they had the big VMA reunion, that seemed like the perfect moment to announce that they were going to produce Chans. I don't think it's too late. I don't think it's too late.

00:16:54 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 1:

This is like the thing now. You know, you see what Backstreet Boys are doing right now, but also you see some of these older artists that are from the 80s and 90s that are starting to tour, and they're touring together. I mean, Nelly Ja Rule's concert sold out faster than some of the other current artists that are playing at Pine Nod this year.

00:17:11 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 3:

I think that this year would be great for him in the morning.

00:17:13 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just wish it happened back two years ago. It seemed like it would have been at a higher peak.

00:17:18 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 3:

Kamala Harris has taken herself out of the running for the governor of California race in a statement that she made yesterday. The former VP said she has given serious thought to a gubernatorial campaign in recent months, but she decided against it. Her decision shakes up the race to replace Governor Gavin Newsom. And sources also telling me this morning that she has not ruled out another run for president. So that could be figuring into her decision as well.

00:17:45 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 1:

She still has the greatest laugh in the world, doesn't she? She can't go back.

00:17:48 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Maria Menounos wins. Oh, yeah. I'm sorry.

00:17:52 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that she could win the presidency or it's done?

00:17:56 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 2:

Um, I think she could win.

00:17:58 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 1:

You think so? Yeah.

00:17:59 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 2:

They give her a full campaign, I think, you know.

00:18:02 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I think they got to go somebody completely different. I think it's got to be, like, it has to be somebody that's, like, younger and vibrant vibrant and somebody like an up-and-coming like congress or senator or somebody or this guy that's the uh the the governor of maryland i think is like everybody's all hot hot on i mean and the speaker of the house or the or the dems the dems uh minority leader is like really good too i don't

00:18:29 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 2:

know i mean she's 60 years old compared to our other presidents i get it but she also i think

00:18:36 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 1:

when you lose it's tougher you know like when you lose the as the main candidate it's tougher to come back even though joe biden yeah yeah but he was the president at one point joe biden i know joe biden was the vice president and he had failed presidency runs before president obama chose him to be his vice president i think though if he wasn't the vice president i don't know if he would have won either i think you know what i mean i think people kind of move past that whole thing And I don't think the party is going to probably be back. I think it's going to be Gavin Newsom.

00:19:08 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking more so AOC.

00:19:10 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 1:

Or AOC. There you go. There's Young. What about Big Gretch? Big Gretch. Big Gretch. That would be interesting. Somebody told me this, and I don't know if this is a fact or this is just a rumor. She was offered like a major job, like CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield for bajillions of dollars. Turned it down because she wants to be the president.

00:19:33 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 2:

Public servant.

00:19:34 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:19:35 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I did not know that Tim McGraw has never really ever taken off his cowboy hat and published and showed his head. So this is a big story this morning in the country music world that he was caught outside of a recording studio this week by a photographer, and the paparazzo just, like, snapped a bajillion pictures because he ain't got no hair under that cowboy hat. Really?

00:20:00 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 4:

shaved head. Wow. Yeah, and I guess he's super comfortable with it. He just wanted a different look for the summer so you're going to see him like this from time to time now, but you've only ever saw him with the cowboy hat, right? Yeah. Yeah. There's no hair under there. Or at least very minimal.

00:20:18 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 5:

Very minimal hair. But he was in the movie with Sandra Bullock where his they adopted the football player. What the heck is that? Oh, that's right, the blind side. Blind side. He was in there. He had hair. He doesn't anymore.

00:20:35 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 4:

He's like Jeff Bezos. I do love this song. Okay, and lastly, this summer's big coffee craze. And I am up for this. Iced drinks served in literal buckets. Coffee buckets are all over TikTok right now. They're selling out in the small, local mom-and-pop coffee shops. You can't get one at, like, Starbucks or Tim Hortons or anything. like that but they are giving latte lovers a new way to caffeinate and make a statement at the same time so if you see somebody carrying a literal bucket of coffee it's a wow only iced coffee though i don't know if i'm dripping with flavor and espresso shots oh i could i could what's the statement down one of those i don't know that you require a lot of coffee you like coffee i don't

00:21:18 - 00:21:45 | Speaker 5:

know i want uh instead of buckets of coffee like they do that we're buckets of beer i want a table service bottle service like i want a sparkler you know what i mean i've never done bottle service at a club at all is bottle service cool like you like making your own drinks i'm not paying that much like people i love bottle service of course you do are you gonna have when i'm not paying for it are you oh you have guys buy it for you don't you absolutely are you gonna bottle service in

00:21:45 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Allison? Good morning. How are you guys?

00:22:32 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 5:

Good. Welcome back. Going for two in a row. We've had a little struggle keeping a champion here. Allison, will you continue the struggles, or will you end that and make a streak go for you?

00:22:45 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I sure hope so. All right.

00:22:47 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 5:

Let's find out a little bit about you, Allison. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

00:22:52 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 2:

So I'm pretty boring. I pretty much just work all day. I have a wonderful family that I love. My partner and I, we have five kids. Oh, my gosh. We love, yeah, we're a combined family. They have significant others, and we're now a family of 13.

00:23:09 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 5:

That does not sound like boring. No, at all. Can you name all five?

00:23:15 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I sure can.

00:23:16 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 5:

Man, oh, man.

00:23:17 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 2:

You have Autumn, Kinsey, Dominic, Kinsey again, because I have a Kinsey. Oh, my God. Oh, wow.

00:23:22 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. Wait a second. You got together with a guy that had a Kinsey. That's crazy. You guys were meant to be. Kismet. Absolutely. And your challenger's name is Kinsey. Wow. Isn't that unbelievable? No, I'm just kidding. Oh, no. You had me fooled. No. Your challenger is Athen from Southgate. Athen, what's going on? How are you doing?

00:23:41 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 6:

First time lost?

00:23:42 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:23:42 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 6:

All right, Athen.

00:23:43 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I don't think we've ever talked to an Athen before. Athen, you're working out right now?

00:23:49 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 6:

I was earlier. Got to get that workout in, man.

00:23:52 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 5:

Where do you work out?

00:23:55 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 6:

Crunch Fitness in Southgate. All right. Look at that.

00:23:57 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 1:

Abs day?

00:24:00 - 00:24:02 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, man. We got to hit an arm day, Cap. Come on.

00:24:02 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 5:

All right. Got the biceps working. Well, let's have Allison say hi to Athen, and then I'm going to lock you up, Allison. So go ahead, Athen and Allison.

00:24:10 - 00:24:11 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Athen. Good luck.

00:24:11 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 5:

How are you doing, Allison?

00:24:13 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

00:24:15 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Good. How do you think she's doing? She's got 13 to have to look after. That's a lot. Oh, my Lord. She already does her strength training every single day with those guys. All right, here we go. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one, Athens. Lions preseason kicks off tonight in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game. In what U.S. city is the Football Hall of Fame? I'll give you a multiple choice. Is the Football Hall of Fame in A, Houston, Texas, B, Canton, Ohio, or C, Phoenix, Arizona? C, Canton, Ohio. Question number two, Sidney Sweeney's new denim campaign is causing a lot of controversy with some calling it not.

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 1:

Nazi propaganda. What clothing store is the ad for?

00:25:06 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I think it's American Eagle.

00:25:09 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. The author of the Harry Potter book series turned 60 today. What's her name? Is it J.K. Rowling? Question number four. Carrie Underwood will perform the show open for NBC's Sunday Night Football for the 13th consecutive season. What reality singing competition made Carrie famous?

00:25:39 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 2:

American Idol.

00:25:40 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 1:

And question number five, a little audio clue for you. Question number five in the five at 655. On this day in 1999, this artist dropped Genie in a Bottle, and it became number one song. All right. Look at you. Look at this guy. Still love this song. Let's bring a champ back from a soundproof area. She's going to have a challenge this morning. Athen got a perfect score, five out of five. Wow. It's brain day, Athen. Wow. So you got to be perfect today, Allison, or you will lose. Come on. You can do it. I know you can. You ready?

00:26:23 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 2:

I think so.

00:26:24 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 1:

Question number one. Lions preseason kicks off tonight in the Pro Bowl or the Pro Football Hall of Fame game. In what U.S. city is the Football Hall of Fame? I'll give you multiple choice. Allison, good luck. Question number three. The author of the Harry Potter book series turned 60 today. What's her name?

00:27:25 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Three seconds. J.K. Rowling. Yes. Three, three.

00:27:29 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Carrie Underwood will perform the show open for the NBC Sunday Night Football for the 13th consecutive season. What reality singing competition made Carrie famous?

00:27:45 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

American Idol. Yes. Four to four.

00:27:47 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 1:

And it comes down to this one question that you must get right. And if you do, you are back tomorrow and you will go for three in a row. If you miss it, Athen is going to be talking to us after tomorrow's workout. Ready? No pressure. Wait. Is that what I heard? Game over, bitches. Come on. No, no, no. Here we go. Question number five. It's an audio clue, so you're going to have to really listen closely to your radio. Or iPhone, actually, for you. On this day in 1999, this artist dropped the song Genie in a Bottle. Oh, where the heck's the song? Hold on. I was hitting the wrong button there. Sorry. Hold on. Dropped the song Genie in a Bottle. Who is she to stay our champion?

00:28:43 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 2:

00:29:07 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, you call us when you're ready. I'm not going to be bothering you. I don't want you all of a sudden putting me on the spam list.

00:29:15 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 2:

I'm ready for it, man. Also, you should let me come fly my drone in your Art Heart Studios. I own a drone and content company.

00:29:22 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 1:

Buddy, if you got a drone, we got some business. We'd love to talk to you. Hold on. Lydia, get some information from them. That would be incredible. We could do, like, some drone stuff. Could we do a drone shot of breaking and entering Christmas wishes? That would be amazing to see everybody from the sky.

00:29:36 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 2:

I have ones that can fit and it's following your hand. I can fly it while you guys are doing like a little thing for your TikTok. Let's do it.

00:29:42 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 1:

Let's do it. Hold on one second. Let's do it. We're going to talk to you. I got a $50 Kroger gift card for you as your prize. They're sponsoring this week's 5 at 6.55. Hang on one second.

00:30:53 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 3:

Alexis.

00:30:54 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:30:54 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 3:

Hey, why do you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you?

00:31:00 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 4:

So my friend sent me that she saw my boyfriend on the T app.

00:31:06 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 3:

The T app is the app where girls go and just talk smack or talk crap about guys that they've dated.

00:31:15 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's like exposing, you know, if they're cheaters or if they're like, you know, what's the T on these guys?

00:31:22 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:31:22 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 4:

And she said that, like, a lot of girls were saying that he's always sliding their DMs, that he's really flirty. And it was, like, multiple times. Multiple people were saying this about my boyfriend.

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 3:

Is it true?

00:31:37 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It is true, because I saw him in some girls' DMs.

00:31:42 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 3:

He was, what, flirting back and forth with her?

00:31:48 - 00:31:56 | Speaker 4:

It was weird. It was, like, this girl, Kelsey, and it was just her phone number. but it like it kind of looked like all the messages had been deleted

00:31:56 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 2:

except for her phone number was there yeah so did you see him flirting back and forth

00:32:04 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 4:

or you just saw a phone number i just saw a phone number but it like it just looked so sus it looked like there had been conversation but it had been deleted did you see any other

00:32:17 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 3:

things going on between him and any other girls i saw some dms with a couple other girls

00:32:24 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 4:

and like i made him show me and they're just it's all you know innocent enough

00:32:30 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 3:

so you made you made him show you but yet you still saw one that had a girl's phone number in it yeah we are going to do something a little bit different because we have that girl's number and we have that girl's name we were thinking about doing one of the calls that we do where we'll have bianca from the show call him up try to be this girl and see if he falls for the fact that some girl that he's hitting up on instagram is calling him up which is only going to work by the way if they haven't talked yet do you know what i mean although we've done it before in the past and as crazy as it sounds, these guys were, they had literally just had a conversation with them and didn't even realize they weren't talking to the right person. But will you do us a favor? Will you mute your phone and not say a word? And Bianca, are you up for this? Yeah, let's do it. All right. We're going to call and we're going to talk to your boyfriend and we're going to have Bianca or what was the girl's name? Her name is Kelsey. We're going to have Kelsey call Brandon.

00:33:40 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 6:

hello hey this is brandon yes it is hey it's kelsey how are you

00:33:57 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 5:

oh hey i'm all right how are you doing sweetheart good oh what you doing well i'm nothing just hanging out i got you what time do you work today 10 30 oh okay okay it's not bad um 10 30 to like 6 30 something like that

00:34:18 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 6:

okay what time do you get off do you want to do something maybe after

00:34:20 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 5:

uh man just jumping right in there to meet up already huh yeah i mean why not don't want to be don't want to be uh pen pals or something are you just talking to other girls is that why no no no i would i wouldn't be talking to you if i was talking to somebody else are you

00:34:42 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 6:

sure yeah why would i lie i'm just making sure i just want to make sure that i'm the only one

00:34:48 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 5:

you're talking to because i'm not i'm not really about that i mean yeah i i'm not i'm not like all over the place okay good i'm just

00:35:00 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 3:

making sure because i'm like i'm looking for a relationship so like i only want one person you're looking for the real thing that husband or something i don't know about husband yeah but i mean taking it slow you know so all right like what do you want to do do you have anything in mind if you want to hang out it could be another day too if you want it doesn't have to be today

00:35:23 - 00:35:46 | Speaker 4:

we could probably grab drinks at some point probably not tonight because that's a little soon it's a little quick um are you doing okay are you doing anything this weekend uh not on sunday saturday i have something but sunday i'm free okay let me jump on here real

00:35:46 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 2:

quick and just stop you before you go any further and get yourself into more trouble than you already are right now, Brandon?

00:35:57 - 00:35:59 | Speaker 4:

Who are you? Why am I in trouble?

00:36:00 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, I would think that Brandon, a guy who is in a relationship with a girl and dating somebody like you are dating Alexis, would not want her to hear you talking to another woman and trying to basically connect with her and hook up with her.

00:36:19 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what you're talking about man

00:36:24 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 2:

00:37:11 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 2:

00:37:14 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

I just wanted to ask this and throw this out as a question. Is it cheating just to be DMing with girls that are not your girlfriend? Like if a guy's just DMing back and forth. I don't think so. Yes. You don't think it is? Yes, you do think it is. Let's talk about it. We're going to talk about it coming up here next on Mojo in the Morning. Don't go anywhere. War of the Roses.

00:39:32 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what time do you get off? Do you want to do something maybe after?

00:39:38 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 4:

Man, I'm just jumping right in there to meet up already, huh?

00:39:41 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, why not?

00:39:44 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 4:

Don't want to be pen pals or something?

00:39:48 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 3:

Are you just talking to other girls? Is that why?

00:39:51 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. I wouldn't be talking to you if I was talking to somebody else. Are you sure? Yeah. would i lie why would i lie because you're lying right unbelievable uh war of the roses here great job by bianca and calling and busting alexis's guy and uh he ends up hanging up right at the end of the thing alexis yeah still nothing from him huh

00:40:25 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 2:

No, I just texted him again.

00:40:28 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 4:

We're going to see what kind of updates we can get from you on this. This has got to be really hard for you to sit back.

00:40:43 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't know why I feel so shocked, because I think I knew this already.

00:40:47 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 1:

It's one thing to read it or hear about it. It's another thing to actually hear it.

00:40:53 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:40:55 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 4:

All right, hang on one sec. That T-app, by the way, going to get you burned. Guys, watch out. Some of these guys that we get in War of the Roses are interesting. We'll get these entries all the time. When I ask you to text cheater to 95500, what's the sign that he's cheating? Well, he's DMing other girls. How many guys are DMing other girls?

00:41:19 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

While in relationships.

00:41:20 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 4:

and you sit there and you think back to yourself you're like okay well that is about as sketchy of a situation because you're doing it on i'm assuming instagram or maybe facebook and you're going into their dms because you're trying to meet up with these people it's not that you're just like hey i really like your posts um is dming another girl if you're in a relationship relationship a committed relationship is it cheating we got two different viewpoints right now that you're going to hear from on the show one is shannon who says absolutely it's cheating and i would think a majority of people would think that cav on the other hand says no it's not you

00:42:03 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 5:

don't think it's cheating i mean i think context matters in the context of this conversation i think obviously it's wrong but i think if we look at it intent matters i think you can't have platonic relationships i think you can find people on social media you can find people who you just like either their content or whatever it is that they're putting out there and you can drum up relationships based on that whether it's i don't know the latest song or people like sports or

00:42:29 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 4:

games like you can have doesn't it lend itself though to something bad happening like doesn't it lend doesn't make it seem like if somebody is going back and forth and dming a girl that is not their girlfriend like why do you why do you need to do that so that's that's the conversation of

00:42:46 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 1:

can you not have friends of the opposite sex but i'm not and when i say it's cheating i'm not saying you can't ever dm you you know i can't ever dm another guy because i'm married but when like mojo just said when you're when you start a conversation and you're going back and forth back and forth all the time i think that then that's when like the crack happens and a relationship starts to form whether you whether you want to be it to be that way or not um i just think it's a really really slippery slope you can just never have conversations with people that's not what i

00:43:18 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 5:

that's not what i said i didn't even finish my sentence you can never have conversations with people of the opposite sex that go on for a while because the longer it goes that's when the crack happens so i can only talk to you for three times if it's a random person that you don't know that you're dming i don't think that's what i mean like how many random people follow you and if they slide up on your story and they make a good comment or whatever the case may be you say something back they say what if it's like it's just a good conversation okay but then it's over

00:43:47 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

like i may respond and then that's you know that's really it i'm not engaging every day in a conversation with that person and going back to that conversation well i mean every day is a difference you know i mean like you said yes context is definitely a part of it intent is definitely a part of it but if this guy's out there like constantly in random girls dms yeah

00:44:09 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 5:

that's absolutely cheating yeah i mean that that shapes a different story but if it's just the conversation of can you dm other people when you're in a relationship as long as it's platonic and it's friendly i don't see a problem with that first of all let's get one thing straight

00:44:23 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 3:

crack is cheap i make too much money to ever smoke crack let's get that straight okay we don't do Crack. Don't do that. Crack is whack.

00:44:37 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 4:

Wayne, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. Your thoughts on this one?

00:44:42 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm 100% against what Kevin's saying. He knows he's wrong with what he's saying. If you're in a relationship or marriage or any kind of relationship with another person, male or female, DM and another person, it's 100% cheating because the opposite of sex, obviously, are attracted to each other. That's why they're liking their photos.

00:45:00 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 5:

how's that obvious i i know women who think lebron james is better than jordan i'm dead listen come on kevin we can agree to disagree all i'm saying is it doesn't have to be sexual every time you dm somebody of the opposite sex it doesn't always mean a relationship if you're

00:45:18 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 8:

in a committed relationship would you want your girl talking to other men and no matter what it

00:45:21 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 2:

is come on bro it depends on what it is that's like that could get kind of flirty y'all are insane right now i just think it's i do think it's a really so y'all can not have

00:45:32 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 6:

friends of the opposite that's what y'all said hey amanda what do you think i think

00:45:39 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 1:

obviously like ken ken kev said sorry that it's context intent all that but the biggest part is it comes down to the boundaries of your relationship some people are okay with things that other people wouldn't be okay with yeah and if you as a couple decide like you're allowed to have female friends or you're not allowed to have female friends or whatever like some people think going to a strip club is cheating some people don't it all comes down to the boundaries of

00:46:07 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 6:

your relationship yeah and that's a good way to put it and you think that there are ways to be able to do this without it going bad right as long as you're willing like like if you're not willing to talk to your significant other about who you're dming yes like the idea of alexis not knowing that he's dming with other girls you mean knowing is he supposed to like tell her hey today i dm'd with user three four no but i think he should say uh you know in general conversation hey yeah i got this friend on instagram why why would that ever come up because it's a continuing

00:46:43 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 2:

in conversation with a random person?

00:46:45 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 5:

So you're telling me you and Wes sit down for dinner and say, you know, he's DMing somebody. It's super platonic. He should just voluntarily come out of nowhere and say, oh, by the way.

00:46:57 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 6:

That's so random. If it doesn't come up in conversation, I think that there's more reason to believe that it's not good. Like if Shannon is DMing with a male listener and she goes, yeah, there's this guy that DM'd me today and da-da-da-da. You know, and if Wes gets jealous over there's this guy DMing you. She's just basically opening it up saying hey I'm telling you about the guy. I wouldn't tell you about him if it wasn't the case. This guy Alexis' guy is definitely

00:47:25 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 3:

When it's shrouded in secrecy and darkness

00:47:27 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 6:

it's cheating. And I think there is something wrong if the significant other has a problem with you even just talking to people of the opposite sex. I think that that's just controlling. What's up Jeff? Hi.

00:47:38 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 7:

Hey how you guys doing? Good morning everybody.

00:47:41 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 6:

I need a perspective from a guy that sounds like Jeff, what's going on?

00:47:46 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 7:

No, just working, man. But, Kev, you're spot on, man. Men and women can have a conversation without it being about sex or even going towards that. Not this guy. It's all about. No, no, no, no. That dude's a crazy.

00:47:59 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 6:

No, no, she was pointing to Kevin. I'm just kidding.

00:48:05 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 7:

But, no, it's all about, like, you know, the contrast and the way it goes. And if my woman was talking to a guy, you know, it's not a big deal. I'm confident in myself. I'm not another man taking my woman. But I'm confident if the conversation started going that way, then she would end the conversation.

00:48:23 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 6:

She would stop it. Yeah. Yeah. You got to know what's appropriate and not appropriate. Yeah. And obviously the conversation that Bianca had with him was way down the inappropriate. I mean, he called her, what, honey or something, like right from the moment that she said hi.

00:48:38 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm making plans to hang out.

00:48:39 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 6:

Stephanie, what's up?

00:48:42 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I do think Kevin is spot on because it really depends on the context. My fiance, he has a lot of women he's talked to, and it's based on, like, his hobbies. He's a cyclist. He plays music. I mean, I think it really depends.

00:48:59 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 6:

Women are attracted to those hobbies, Stephanie.

00:49:02 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, absolutely.

00:49:03 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 6:

But I'm saying not attracted to the hobbies, attracted to the guys doing those hobbies.

00:49:07 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 3:

So is he constantly, like, having – are these people you know or people you don't know?

00:49:12 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 4:

I eventually know them. I mean, I cycle as well. Okay. So, I mean –

00:49:16 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 6:

So why aren't you brought in on the conversations? Why doesn't he say, let me include Stephanie? She's my girlfriend.

00:49:22 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 5:

Every time I got to bring it – so I can't live my life. My whole life is the person I'm in a relationship with.

00:49:28 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 4:

I had my boundaries with him. So it's, you know, like, we had boundaries. that, again, it's based on, you know, your trust in your relationship and having those conversations.

00:49:38 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think that there are obviously, we all know, there's a happy medium. We all agree that there's got to be a line that's in here. But we also agree that this is a time when I think things can get shady. You know what I mean? Like, I think that temptation is always out there. You know what I mean? Like, if you're around ice cream and you don't, you know, want it.

00:49:58 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Even if you're not hungry for ice cream.

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 4:

You're around it all the time.

00:50:01 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 5:

You will want it. Eventually, you'll want it, and you've got to be able to push it away.

00:50:04 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 4:

That's where the discipline comes in. But you just – ice cream is in the world. You're not going to – I get it. You're not going to go anywhere where ice cream is just bad.

00:50:12 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 5:

I get it, yeah. But I think you've got to be open about the fact – You've got to tell – no, but you've got to tell your friends, hey, I was around ice cream today. If all of a sudden you're hiding that you're going to get ice cream.

00:50:22 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 4:

They know it's ice cream. It's summertime.

00:50:24 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 5:

Taylor, what's up?

00:50:26 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 4:

What's up?

00:50:27 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 3:

First time. Hey, Taylor. I've been listening to you guys for the past probably 15 years.

00:50:35 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Thank you. Thank you, Taylor. Thanks for that.

00:50:39 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 3:

And I agree with Kev on this one. You know, context is king, you know?

00:50:46 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Do you also agree with Kev that LeBron's better than Jordan?

00:50:51 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 3:

Hell no. No. Exactly. Hell no.

00:50:55 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. You could have just stopped at the first one. You didn't have to go there.

00:50:58 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 3:

no absolutely not taylor are you married or in a relationship i i am talking to someone but uh she's she's from tennessee and um did you get in her dms or what did you do i did but i've been separated from my ex-wife for like almost a year now so and so uh were you talking to any girls

00:51:23 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 5:

when you were with your ex-wife?

00:51:25 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:51:26 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Was she talking to any guys, and that's why she's your ex-wife?

00:51:31 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she was talking to her best friend's brother the whole time, but it is what it is.

00:51:39 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 5:

So it's interesting. Taylor actually agrees with Kev that being in the DM, and yet he was cheated that way. That's interesting.

00:51:45 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it didn't happen in the DM. She moved her best friend, her two kids, and her brother in with us when they had their own apartment across the street. I thought it was a little strange.

00:51:57 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 5:

Were they fooling around when you weren't there?

00:52:01 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 3:

They say no, but I have my suspicions.

00:52:05 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Interesting. Boy, that's a sad story, man. But you know what? Better things are in your future. Sarah's got a wild one here. Sarah, what's happening?

00:52:16 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 2:

Hi, first time long time. Hey, Sarah's on the phone.

00:52:20 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 5:

Let me try to get to the heart of this one. Sarah, you are in a relationship with a guy? You have a boyfriend?

00:52:28 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. But you're open about literally everything with him. He is the love of my life. But, yeah, I have a guy friend that I've been friends with for several years. And, again, it comes back to boundaries. So, obviously, if my boyfriend really had an issue with me talking to him, I'm not really – I distance myself from my friend. But I also just feel weird that if I'm just chucking in on my friend, seeing what he's doing, he's in a relationship, I feel weird announcing it to my boyfriend. But that doesn't know.

00:52:58 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 1:

Your boyfriend knows about this guy and knows that you're friends. Like, I think that's very different.

00:53:03 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 5:

But here's the thing, though. If he should ask you questions about, hey, what do you guys talk about or what's the last thing that you talked about, would you tell him?

00:53:11 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, 100%. Yeah.

00:53:13 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, because of the way that it was on the call screen board here from Lydia, it said that I text with this guy all the time, but I never tell my boyfriend that I'm texting with him.

00:53:22 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, not, I don't mean like, I don't mean 24-7, I just met someone, one of my closest guy friends from high school, so I do like, you know, catch up, see how he's doing and stuff.

00:53:32 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 5:

Do you guys ever get in your feelings with each other at all? Like, do you ever share something with him that you wouldn't share with your guy, your boyfriend?

00:53:39 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 4:

No, never. Okay, you're all right, you're safe. Is it ever an uncomfortable conversation with your boyfriend where it feels like he's chastising you or?

00:53:50 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 2:

I think at the very beginning, he needed to kind of get used to, you know, because you're learning a relationship when it's new. So we definitely set those boundaries early on. But I kind of made it known, like, okay, like, yes, I did have other guys that I was friends with that I cut them off completely because it made my boyfriend uncomfortable. But my boundary is I'm not going to cut off a friend that I've had for several years.

00:54:10 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 4:

See, sometimes I'll be feeling like I'm just going to be real, dog. Like, do you have to, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to say it without, like, telling all my business. But, like, in certain situations, I felt as though I had to be there to cover up somebody else's insecurity. and their insecurity of other things that have potentially happened to them before I even entered the picture is why you shouldn't be talking to so-and-so or this is how you move or this is why I feel uncomfortable. But it's like, okay, how much of myself do I have to give up for the person I love? Is it everything? Or is there a way where you can bring down your level of insecurity?

00:54:50 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I mean, I think that's definitely a conversation in every relationship that you enter because you're both entering into a relationship with a whole bunch of junk and trauma that has happened to you. you in past relationships and so it's a like I mean Wes and I go through this every day of figuring out how that what that puzzle looks like to make it work and make everybody comfortable and have

00:55:11 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 2:

good boundaries and healthy boundaries and yeah and honestly past scars in a person's life their childhood or their relationships are definitely going to come up in your relationship and you you have to be you know you have to be able to to be sympathetic to that and if you're not sympathetic to that then i don't think that you have full commitment in that person like i think there's going to be things from a person's childhood we have chelsea and i have things from both of our childhoods that play a part in our relationship all the time and when we are not uh you know understanding that is when our relationships have been probably the toughest yeah it's working through that though that's the hard part yeah it is hey real quick deborah says She is so irritated listening to this conversation. Why, Debra?

00:55:59 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, guys. Kevin?

00:56:02 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 3:

Yes, Debra?

00:56:05 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 4:

Dude, you are still off base, and I can understand why you have not been in a very long relationship, and you're not married.

00:56:15 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

Let her cook. Keep going, Debra.

00:56:18 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

Again, I'm sorry. But, again, you're talking to a whole bunch of other women. Why is that woman that you're with not enough? And that's basically what you're saying. It's okay. It doesn't make sense to me.

00:56:33 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 3:

So you're saying if I'm in a relationship, that should be the only woman I talk to?

00:56:40 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm saying that on T, that is the program is about saying things about guys that are not kind because they're working against being in a relationship. Again, you're DMing all these women. And Kevin, can you honestly answer this? Are you DMing them just to talk to them as friends?

00:57:08 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm not DMing all these women. What do you mean? I'm not in a relationship right now.

00:57:11 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 2:

But I think she's saying that you say it's no problem. Debra, you had a good point, And then all of a sudden, I think you fizzled. I think what you were saying is, why do you need to be DMing other women when you are in a relationship with a woman? Is she not enough for you? And I think that Kevin, you have to understand, is not DMing a bunch of women when he's in a relationship. I think he's saying, though, that he has no problem DMing other women because he knows that he's going to be faithful to his girl.

00:57:41 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 3:

And when you have these DM conversations, they're not going on for years and years and years. It may be a message here. If somebody slides up on your story or if you comment on a post that they made, that's DMing somebody. It's not necessarily like you're developing and cultivating and building a relationship to hopefully go towards something. It's no different than you seeing somebody in a Starbucks line and you making a quick conversation. It's like the same type of thing.

00:58:07 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 2:

Debra. That's very different. Debra, do you think that when Kevin's DMing these other women, when he is in a relationship or has been in another relationship, Do you think that he has bad thoughts in his mind, or do you think that he's not being faithful?

00:58:24 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 4:

I really don't know about Kevin, but I'm going to tell you that the girl that just went through there, I think it was Alexis. I'm sorry. That dude is looking for. Yeah.

00:58:34 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:58:35 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, we agree with that. I'm not going to say it.

00:58:38 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:58:39 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

We all agree on that. Yeah, again, if you can't be in a relationship and be true to it, then again, I don't really understand why you need to make all these rules. There should be an understood rule. Again, you're not looking for somebody else because that person is enough.

00:59:01 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Listen, we all agree on that one, and honestly, we all feel for Alexis. But we also came to the conclusion, I think, during this topic of the fact that it's all about boundaries and it's all about understanding the boundaries. And I think that, you know, if somebody doesn't want you to do something or somebody doesn't have good feelings about it, you probably should be open minded to at least have conversation about it. War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:53 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's got the Dirty on the 30 for us right now. What's going on, Shannon?

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Please tell me you saw the video of Justin Trudeau.

01:00:00 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 2:

living his best life at Katy Perry's show last night in Montreal. I haven't yet. Where is it? Oh, my God. He knows every word to firework. Every single word. And this video and this dirty comes on the heels of the dirty I gave you yesterday that they were spotted out on a walk and a dinner date and then getting drinks on the terrace in Montreal the night before last. Now, I think he was with his son and his daughter. He has two sons and a daughter. And the two people that he was standing next to looked to me like his son and his daughter. I don't know if he was there by himself, but he was there. So everyone's going, are they just friends? Is it something more? I don't know.

01:00:38 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

He's so cute.

01:00:39 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 2:

He's not. No.

01:00:42 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 4:

He has gone. I'm telling you. Some people have glow ups. He's had a glow down.

01:00:45 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 2:

He's okay.

01:00:46 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 4:

He was a good looking dude at one point. And then all of a sudden it's like, what happened to the guy? Yeah.

01:00:50 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 2:

Look for the video though. Shannon Sarp will not be returning to ESPN's first take. The network officially parting ways with the former Broncos tight end. just two weeks after he settled that 50 million dollar sexual assault lawsuit that was brought about by a former girlfriend who accused him of raping her several times also accused him of being controlling and abusive he had been an on-screen analyst at first take for a couple of years now announced back in april that he was going to take a hiatus from the show after the suit was first filed he also hosts the club shay shay and nightcap podcasts i'm sure everybody's heard the news by

01:01:27 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

now that i will not be returning to espn um i found out this information a little earlier in the week and really the only thing that i really ask is like guys could we uh wait until monday um my brother's going into the pro football hall of fame i really wanted to be about him and i wanted to be about my family i know this would i said this coming out will overshadow everything that he's worked his entire life for us and unfortunately you know it didn't happen that way

01:01:53 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 2:

So, just for the record, he has denied all of the allegations. He calls this lawsuit a shakedown. He insists that the relationship with his on-again, off-again girlfriend was 100% consensual all the time. And he says her attorney just targets black men all the time. What's the attorney name?

01:02:15 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 5:

Is that Tony Bugsby? Is that Tony Bugsby? Is that the same guy? Is it Tony Bugsby? All right, why are you looking at him? This is it, man. And obviously, if he's wrong, then he should be penalized. But it's just a sad situation to see where he was. It's Tony Bugsby? Yeah, Bugsby. Sad-ass situation, man, to see where he was and to see where he is now. Obviously, I don't think his career will be over because the shows that you mentioned, the Shea Shea podcast and the Nightcap are wildly successful and they'll continue to be. But to see that $100 million contract leave with ESPN and then the amount of people that they fired reportedly in order to clear that quote-unquote cap space to be able to pay him, Now all those people are just out of a job, and so is he. It's a sad situation all around.

01:02:57 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 2:

Tonight, Lions preseason football kicks off with the Hall of Fame game against the Chargers and with four preseason games on the docket. Coach Dan Campbell said he does plan to rest our starters.

01:03:10 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 3:

I think all of those guys need to play in a game or games, you know, so I think our young guys are going to – I see them playing in this game. Now, am I going to say that it's written in stone right now? No, I'm not. But I think I'd like to play those guys. You know, so that's the good news is, you know, we've got four games here starting with the Hall of Fame game to get him some rest.

01:03:29 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm thinking Jared Goff will not be seeing a uniform. Right. He's going to be on that sideline with the headset on.

01:03:36 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Now, is he going to play some of the rookies like Tyleek Williams?

01:03:40 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure that he will be playing, yeah, some of the rookies. Maybe not the top drafted rookies. I think that we're going to have to look at a backup quarterback because they've got to figure out who their backup quarterback is going to be. I think that's going to be a big deal. Because I will say this, we've been really, really blessed that Jared Goff has been as healthy as he's been. It's a fact.

01:03:57 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 5:

Is it still in the hooker? Is he still on?

01:03:59 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 4:

He's starting tonight. Yep. Okay.

01:04:01 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

And then I saw that Ben Johnson's house is for sale. I'm trying to look for the listing. Ben Johnson.

01:04:06 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, here we go.

01:04:06 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 2:

The now Bears coach, our former offensive coordinator genius. $1.1 million assist Plymouth home is on the market. Look at that, Ben Johnson. How does it look?

01:04:15 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 5:

Did John still owe it? You seen it? No.

01:04:17 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

It's real cute. I've seen the outside of it.

01:04:18 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 5:

I need a drone going through like Miguel Cabrera's house.

01:04:21 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 4:

I got to tell you, the Chicago media is all over Ben Johnson. They say that his preseason practices look so disorganized. It's going to be very interesting to see if Ben Johnson can pull it together as a head coach.

01:04:36 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 5:

You can coach, but personnel matters. What you have with us, you don't have with them.

01:04:41 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, and being a head coach, too, is a little bit different. I mean, that's a lot of managing. It's more so than even just coaching. But it will be interesting to see if the Lions offense looks as fun as the offense has looked with Ben Johnson. A lot of people think that that was a lot of Dan Campbell, too. So let's see.

01:04:57 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, High Noon is issuing a...

01:05:00 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

voluntary recall after some cases were mislabeled as celsius energy drinks so that could potentially result in somebody accidentally drinking a little bit of alcohol that they they weren't wanting cases of high noon's beach variety shipped from july 21st to the 23rd contained cans labeled as celsius's astro vibe sparkling blue razz flavor and some of them went to toledo so a heads up If you if you bought that, if you bought a high noon, if you bought Celsius, really, I guess. I know Michigan is on the list as well. I just don't know specifically where those cases were shipped yet. But Michigan and Ohio on there.

01:05:37 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 3:

Celsius isn't alcoholic, right? No. So like teenagers. It's just like an energy drink. Yeah.

01:05:41 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 1:

They might be getting a high noon instead. Yeah.

01:05:43 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 3:

01:08:11 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 1:

He's there right now.

01:08:12 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 3:

And he is going away with his ex.

01:08:15 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, he's not going away with his ex. She is already there. It's kind of a weird situation that I don't know how I feel about this.

01:08:28 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 3:

First off, why are you talking like that and acting all mysterious? What do you mean? You back in the day went on a vacation with your ex, didn't you? Correct.

01:08:35 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 1:

When Wes and I had just started dating.

01:08:38 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 3:

I remember that. Hold on. Yeah, absolutely. Wes, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Yeah. Let's do it.

01:08:45 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, before we were married and blended our families and things have changed a lot. So my by the way, happy 16th birthday to my stepdaughter, Samantha, who is currently in Houston, Texas. So she is not hearing this, but she competed in the Junior Olympic Games yesterday and kicked butt, by the way. So she and her mom, Wes's ex-wife, have been there since Monday morning. And they were supposed to fly home yesterday, but then they decided to extend their trip and celebrate her birthday in Houston. So they're now staying till Friday. And Wes is flying out with my stepson, Kieran, today because he's competing in Junior Olympics this weekend. So there was not supposed to be this overlap. They were going to divide and conquer. And his ex-wife was going to take the first half of the week with my stepdaughter. Wes was going to take the second half of the week in Houston with my stepson. And then she decided to extend her trip. So he's flying out today and they are going to be there at the same time in the same hotel sharing a rental car for the next two days. And even Wes is like, I mean, it's it's a weird situation. It is.

01:09:58 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

But I remember I do remember when you.

01:10:00 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

and your ex went away together and I remember Wes was a very very patient guy because that was honestly that that was a that would have been a tough one for me it's always weird and I agree

01:10:11 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 1:

with you by the way I'm not trying to negate that situation by saying it was you know when we had first started dating because it definitely still happened but it is just like uh as much as you trust everybody involved you're like it's still kind of weird there's always wine and and your

01:10:27 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 2:

kids are succeeding yeah i mean so it's a little bit of that as well i don't know how much i love this if uh you know samantha or karen wins like a big thing do they embrace each other do they

01:10:38 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

hug oh i mean they hug now yeah do they really yes everybody's on very good terms that does not

01:10:45 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 2:

weird me out at all okay but do they hug in the bedroom

01:10:48 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 1:

i don't think so are they sharing a room or just a rental car no uh they're sharing a rental car and then the whole team is staying at the same hotel.

01:10:59 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 2:

So is Wes's ex with Samantha in one room and Wes and Karen in another room? Okay. It's a joint room. So the door is just open in a minute. I love a joint room in hotels. How many good was they, please? I love a joint room in hotels. Hey, that's all the paper over there. All right, let's ask a question. I'm going to throw this out there to the listeners. Any listeners who have vacationed with their ex or do this right now, Will you call us up, and then is there any of them that will admit to us that they had zero intention, but all of a sudden something happened between the two of you guys when you did it? Go downstairs to that bar? Hotel bars are always a bad place. Never go to the hotel bar. Do you remember when we first met and you thought that I was? Yeah, and you remember this? And then, oh, next thing you know, there's like some song playing in the background that's like a Michelle Branch song or something. It's always a song.

01:11:54 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 1:

Don't bring Michelle Branch into this.

01:11:56 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

I love her. In a world where two people couldn't be together. It's always the rom-com. They're now back together.

01:12:02 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 1:

And it's Michelle Branch, Breathe.

01:12:04 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, exactly. What's that song? Or it's like, I don't know.

01:12:07 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 1:

You know this song. It's a great song. Hold on a second. Breathe, Michelle Branch.

01:12:11 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. You want to hear it? All right. Let me see if I hear it. And I'll give you the thing here, too. This will be the...

01:12:16 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that the song?

01:12:17 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 2:

I think it is. Yeah, here you go. She had a few. Here you go. Ready? In a world where two people just couldn't stand each other, they ended up going away to Houston to a kid's... Something like that. I'm sorry. Can somebody give me the copy, please? Give me the copy. Junior Olympics. And then Hotel Bar led to a next generation together. Coming this summer. Wes, Zach's, and Kendall the Relay Houston. PG-3. Because, yeah, something. Do you remember this song? Yeah, I was about to say, I don't remember this song. Are you kidding? I don't think it's that big of it, but it's played at a radio station. Back when it was Q95. Yes. There you go. It's on like 15 other songs. Hold on a second. Brian, what's up, Brian? How you doing? Hey, Mojo, you're so silly, man. You almost had me crying. Do they hug in the bedroom? Oh, my God. Brian. Thank you for that. Brian, quick question. I just got to throw this out there. Are you or your parents ever in a relationship where there was a divorce? Is there anything at all there? No, no. Okay, then I can't ask you the question. I was going to ask the question because a lot of our listeners have had divorce in their life, right? Their parents were divorced. I always love when I hear the stories from people all the time about my mom and dad can't stand each other. Like they got divorced. They cannot stand each other. but this one moment, and it's, it's usually a baby, a wedding or a funeral. And somehow like it will bring in, I'll always remember this one, my, my buddy, John, who grew up his parents. I literally, I'm not kidding. When I say this to you, I don't ever remember these two people being happy at all. And they ended up getting divorced when we got into high school. And I will never forget when he sent a message to me and a group of guys that we all went to grade school together and said, you guys are never going to believe this. What? I went to my mom's house to go check up on her, and my dad walked out in his underwear.

01:14:17 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. It was crazy.

01:14:18 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't think his parents had sex when they had John. What's up, Tay? How you doing?

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:14:26 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 2:

Nothing much.

01:14:28 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Chani, why don't you call Wes up and see if we're going to send a free bedroom to that room? I think he might recognize my voice. He's getting a call on the line.

01:14:38 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 2:

you are a bad man uh what's going on danielle how are you hi guys so hey hey so my ex and i

01:14:50 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 1:

actually wrote into our divorce agreement that we had to take our daughter to disney world together

01:14:56 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

oh really and so yes

01:14:59 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. and how was that was that uh did you guys like each other or did you guys hate each other

01:15:04 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 4:

so we're on good terms we haven't taken the trip yet but we have taken her back to the island um but we're now about like four years out from our you know our separation and we recently had the conversation like do we still want to do this trip together does it make sense to our new significant others feel okay about it so oh that's i was gonna ask if you were both in relationships now yes we both are and so we're we're open to it still but we haven't done it yet and we're still trying to decide if it's the right thing so that's what that's what my ex-husband and i did we

01:15:38 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 3:

actually took the kids to disney together and again we were both very new in our now you know in in our relationships with our now significant others with our now spouses yeah um and it was awesome and there was there really like wasn't any weirdness i it you would recommend then danielle do that? Well, like that would never happen with me now. Like Andrew and I would never take the kids on a trip just solo with us. Now at the time it worked because of the situation of where we were are in our lives and our respective relationships. And honestly, it was so good for the kids. Quick question. The kids, the kids, it was such a good core memory for the kids that

01:16:17 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 1:

we were able to do it. What's wrong with the four of you guys taking the kids together? Like each

01:16:23 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 4:

of the relationships coming too yeah we actually talked about that so we're both open to like our partners coming with us and us doing it as a group um but we haven't like made that decision and i think shannon you're right like the further out from your divorce like and the further you get into new relationships like it just changes what you feel about it yeah when you're new it's like the emotions are so high and you're like i still want to do this as a family and now you have like

01:16:50 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 3:

new family for sure and even on that trip that andrew and i took like he he was on the phone all the time with his now wife wes sent stuff to our room like i was talking to wes all the time you know like they were still very much present and talked about even though they weren't there

01:17:07 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 1:

can i tell you the coolest thing about uh what you did with andrew but also what wes is currently doing with his ex i think especially with these kids being older kids like the idea that that he and her, you know, don't have like horrible feelings towards each other and that they can do this and share a card ride together, even if they do talk about memories or whatever in the car to the kids, it's like, hey, you know what? That was their life. That's our life. And also as a kid, as a kid, you want to believe that your parents conceived you in love and they did. Yeah.

01:17:41 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 3:

Like, does that make me uncomfortable? I'm being very transparent that, you know, that they might all go out to dinner tonight to celebrate Samantha's birthday and it's the four of them. Yeah, like, that doesn't feel great, but I also trust everybody involved, and I know that that, like, for Sam, that would be a really nice thing. Right, yeah.

01:18:00 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 1:

And just like you guys did with Lucy, right? You guys all got together for Lucy's birthday, which is something that I thought was spectacular. Roberta, what's happening?

01:18:09 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Hello. Hola. Hola. Hola, Roberta.

01:18:12 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 1:

Hola, que tal bien y tu?

01:18:15 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, muy bien y tu.

01:18:16 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 1:

cc that's all i know what's going on what's going on roberta uh my opinion i feel like all the

01:18:24 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 6:

adults make this stuff weirder um it's already weird i feel like you know with children i understand protecting our feelings but you know your new life is you guys are divorced teach them that teach them a healthy way that even though they were made we can continue life without them being permanently all the way there because they're going to be permanently there in sense because there's our parent it's called being a good parent keep your emotions out of it

01:18:48 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 1:

and just be a good parent yeah that's great no i think that's awesome and i and honestly it goes back to everything that we talk about with anything with war of the roses and stuff it's about boundaries and intentions and stuff like that and you know intentions right i mean there's listen you know how to get uh wes uh to never ever hook up or do anything with his uh ex-wife again just bring up anything from the past you want to you want to really piss somebody

01:19:15 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 3:

off seriously i'll just mention you know it's so funny though last day he's packing and i'm like laying in bed watching him back the kids and i are watching tv and he's like watching what he's packing and he puts like a new pair of shoes in his suitcase i was like oh i'm breaking out the new shoes for this trip Is that you, Cologne?

01:19:32 - 01:19:32 | Unknown:

01:20:53 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 2:

Maroon 5. I'm so excited to see Maroon 5.

01:20:56 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, man. That's a tough question to answer. I'm all about Ed Sheeran. I want to see Tate McRae.

01:21:02 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 2:

Ed Sheeran just dropped a new song on TikTok yesterday, by the way. Really? I'll tease it for you in the dirty...

01:21:05 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 1:

And honestly, I would love to see Bryan Adams. I know that's a blast from the past, but I'd love to see Bryan Adams. What about you, Kev? Lil Wayne, maybe?

01:21:14 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 3:

I mean, maybe. Glorilla, she got some bangers. Diplo's going to be fine. Diplo? The first thing that came to my mind was LL Cool J-Daw.

01:21:22 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

LL.

01:21:22 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 3:

If he's a legend, I kind of want to see what his set list is like.

01:21:25 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Here's a deal with the iHeartRadio Music Festival. iHeartRadio Music Festival is the two nights, and it's happening in Vegas. We're going to send you to Florida with Visit Florida. Listen tomorrow morning every hour for a chance to win. It's Mojo in the morning. Kevin, what is it that guests do when they come over that really pisses you off?

01:22:26 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, first off, historically speaking, I'm not the person that likes to host. So I'm not the, everybody come on over, let's like have fun, let's watch the game. It's not really the space I occupy. We got other friends that serve that role. But summertime, me moving downtown, kind of got the pregame place. so come over let's have some drinks let's chill before we go out this happened a few times and they're starting to become a pattern and i had to clean up recently and i realized was pissing me off and the reason why i don't like guests in my house these almost cuss these mofos will drink either a sip of their water or half a bottle and leave the bottle wherever the hell it is. That is really starting to piss me off. Almost to the point where I thought about... We're getting hammered. Drink your entire bottle of water. Don't come in my house. I'm not coming with the little mini bottles. And that's what I think I need to start giving them. You do.

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 2:

And put out a Sharpie so they can write their name on it.

01:23:32 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 3:

Bro, that's starting to piss me. It was literally five bottles of water on my table that either were halfway drank or only like the little cup part at the top was. And that's not acceptable in my house. If you have a bottle of water, drink the whole bottle of water or take it with you.

01:23:45 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 1:

You know what you're experiencing? Living with teenage boys or kids in general.

01:23:50 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me?

01:23:51 - 01:23:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, he at least take them to his room. So I don't know what's going on up there.

01:23:53 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know what? You'll find them when you're cleaning the room.

01:23:56 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 2:

I finally stopped buying bottled water because I was, it was the same thing. And then nobody wanted to drink it because they were like, well, I don't think that's my, who cares? We're all family. And so then I was using it to water all the plants. Yeah, but I wouldn't waste it. That's my thing.

01:24:08 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 1:

You know what we use it for? We use it. Our dogs are bougie. They get bottled water. We put them right next to the dog bowl with the water. But I will say this, though, and go back to the Shannon, you know, talking about how that's like the thing that kids do in general. When I was a kid, I drank out of the tap. You know what I mean? That's a fact. I really did stop buying a bottle of water. My kids don't even understand about the tap, you know?

01:24:30 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 2:

But my kids like bubbly or LaCroix or like the Kroger bubble. You know, like they like bubbly water.

01:24:37 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:24:37 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 2:

And it's the same dang thing where it's just they take two sips and then the cans are all over the place. You lift the can and they feel full.

01:24:44 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What is it that guests do when they come over to your house that really pisses you off? I'm going to add one to this list. They treat my bathroom like it's the freaking public restroom at a McDonald's.

01:25:00 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 6:

They destroy it. And I'll go in and we'll, usually it's the next day. I don't do it right at that moment. There's toilet paper, half toilet paper on the floor. Oh, that's disrespectful. We have, you know, these paper towel things that you, you know, you can wipe off. Because I think it's gross when you go to somebody's house and they have one towel in there. Like, I don't want to use, I don't want to use another person's towel. Do you just use the back of the towel? So no, well, if that's the case, I will. But so we have like these little like claw things and stuff. They'll take them and they won't throw them in the garbage, which is sitting right there. They'll just throw them on the countertop and I'm picking up after them. So those are a couple of things. You guys are dirty. I'm going to get a point if I go use somebody's bathroom, I need it to look better than it did before I even walked in. Yeah. Like I'll straighten your stuff up. You don't want to get judged by the next person walking in.

01:25:47 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 1:

Dude, the wetness is what gets me. We just hosted a grad party. It was like a puddle around the sink, on the sink. It's horrible.

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 6:

That's disgusting.

01:25:57 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 1:

Wipe it off.

01:25:58 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Dana, what's up? Hi. Hey, good morning. What's going on, Dana? What pisses you off when you have guests over?

01:26:05 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 2:

You know, the thing that really pisses me off the most when they come over and they just don't leave.

01:26:12 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's a big one.

01:26:16 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 2:

I always want my dogs to stay away from them. And it's like they're dogs. They want to love.

01:26:21 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 6:

No, that's another one, too. People who are not dog friendly and then they come over getting all pissed off because the dogs are all there. I'm like going, you know what? It's their house. I'm not sending them to their room. Emma, what's your thing that pisses you off when you have guests over?

01:26:35 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 4:

Not taking your shoes off.

01:26:37 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's a Midwestern thing, too. Everybody that's here listening to the show loves taking shoes off. I hate taking my shoes off.

01:26:45 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 1:

I hate taking my shoes off, too, when I go to other people's houses. But it grosses me out when people don't take them off when they come to mine. And then I try to be cool and be like, oh, no, you can just keep your shoes on. But inside, I'm like, it's so gross.

01:26:57 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever gone over to somebody's house and they had shoe booties? Yeah, I got them.

01:27:02 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Really?

01:27:03 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 6:

Hell yeah, I got them. You have shoe booties? Yes. Oh, my God. Ready for whenever you want to come over. It's funny. Slip them on. What am I, the Xfinity guy? Am I the cable man? He can get them, too. Either slip off your shoes or slip on the booties. You know what else I think is kind of fun? We have a friend of ours that has socks, like a basket of socks. So if you come over and you're embarrassed because your socks have holes in them or you don't have socks on, and then they tell you to take the socks home with you at the end of the day. What's going on, Nicole?

01:27:32 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes. My dad likes to visit and he chews and he spits it in bottles or cans and leaves them sitting around the house. Oh, Jesus. No.

01:27:44 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 1:

That is absolutely the most disgusting.

01:27:46 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is.

01:27:47 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 6:

And he doesn't put it in a garbage can at the end of the thing, huh?

01:27:52 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 4:

No. No, he just leaves them on the table or on the counter and just leaves them everywhere. That's sick to Becky.

01:28:01 - 01:28:06 | Speaker 6:

Unbelievable. Yes. But he's your dad. You got to love him. What's up, Chris? Hi.

01:28:07 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

01:28:08 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 6:

How you doing? We're talking about what pisses you off when you have guests over.

01:28:12 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 5:

yeah so i'm i'm uh not generally the host and might go back to that i had a gathering and somebody apparently was having some tummy troubles and literally pooped all over my bathroom on the floor and left without saying anything oh wait who's the who are the people

01:28:38 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 6:

that are over oh it's family so these are family members of yours and somebody had a bad moment and they left it all over the place they didn't come and say to you hey i had a bad thing they

01:28:52 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 5:

were too embarrassed huh yeah they said i gotta go i said okay drive safe and then i had another guest come up to me and ask me where the lights all wiped for and i was like why and they were like well there's poop on the floor and i was like that is incredible it's raining from the

01:29:10 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 6:

ceilings oh my god that's awful that'll be the last time they're coming over what's up marie

01:29:15 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 5:

hi it's mojo in the morning hey good morning i'm just gonna say that kev needs to start flaming them and say i know your piss is brown just shame them into drinking that water that is the only

01:29:26 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 6:

thing that's gonna work hydrate hydrate i love it morgan what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

01:29:33 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 3:

hi there so i work at a co-working space and i don't know if it's just gentlemen or women but they leave things everywhere like their moms do like their moms live there

01:29:46 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 6:

they did throw it i was telling lydia today lydia actually asked me this question she goes do you think that my mine and bianca's studio is messy and i go it's a little messy a little guys

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 4:

I guess Tony Travato came in and told her that she needs to pick up.

01:30:03 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 5:

Nobody else goes in there. Who cares?

01:30:05 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 4:

No, they got people that go in. We got shared studios here. Not that one. Yeah, they have JLB.

01:30:12 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 5:

People go in there? Yeah.

01:30:13 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 4:

I think so. MC Mike is on the mic. I don't know. Who's the shift? Who uses the shift? Your studio for their shift.

01:30:23 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

Big Dog Blast. Big Dog Blast, yes. I do not know anybody else who's back studio.

01:30:27 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:30:28 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 2:

And this producer's studio is half the size of our previous one. So, of course, everything's true.

01:30:33 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 4:

Was Blast complaining about it, and that's how Tony figured it out, or what happened?

01:30:37 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 2:

I still haven't figured out who the culprit is. But Tony said he walked in here, and he saw a bunch of stuff laying around, and he wanted them moved.

01:30:44 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 4:

They got tampons literally in the corner of the studio just sitting on the floor.

01:30:47 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 2:

And I asked our boss that. I said, you want me to toss out the tampons? He's like, I wasn't talking about those.

01:30:53 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he doesn't want to talk about tampons. He's safe. Amanda, hi. Hey, what pisses you off when guests come over and they do this?

01:31:00 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 7:

When they walk into my house and I don't know they're coming over.

01:31:04 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so the uninvited guests. Yeah.

01:31:07 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, my niece came over one time when me and my husband were taking an early evening nap. I guess she knocked at the door, nobody answered, and she came in, walked in my bedroom, jumped on my bed, woke us up. People have been laying there naked.

01:31:18 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 7:

You know what I mean?

01:31:20 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 4:

You know what? You must have a very welcoming type of a home, you know? get rid of that that doormat that says uh you know welcome or what's going on theresa you there yes i'm here theresa's sister-in-law does something that drives her crazy what is it

01:31:36 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 6:

so when my sister-in-law comes over she will go and mute the tv or turn it all the way down when people are actively watching the tv it's so annoying i've never met anyone in my life that We'll just go up and mute the TV when everybody's just watching. Do you have it blasting? Mom, dad, like whoever is there is watching the TV. She'll go mute it.

01:32:00 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy. You know, listen, but even if she does have it blasting, it's her TV. You shouldn't be touching the TV, you know?

01:32:07 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't like when people. That's a fact.

01:32:09 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 4:

I don't like when people come over and they change my music. Like I've had people get into my Sonos system. I'm like, how are you getting into my Sonos system? Yeah. And last but not least, Victoria, are you there?

01:32:22 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 8:

Yes, I am.

01:32:23 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

This is a pet peeve that Chelsea has when people come over to our house. What's your pet peeve?

01:32:29 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 8:

When people go into rooms that they're not supposed to.

01:32:32 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

Yes. If the door is closed, don't open it. Yeah.

01:32:36 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 8:

Exactly. Everybody's entertained in a certain part of the house. Why are you wandering towards the bedrooms?

01:32:41 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:32:42 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 4:

Ours is interesting. We've had people that will walk upstairs and just start walking around or go down in the basement and walk into the storage area.

01:32:49 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 3:

What are they going to in storage area for? The only way that that's like semi-acceptable is if you're drunk. Because I'm a wanderer. If I get drunk, I'm just going to wander. You are not getting invited to his house ever again. You're going to find me somewhere I ain't supposed to be.

01:33:03 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:33:05 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 1:

Sorry you got caught cheating by not deleting those texts you meant to delete. Another War of the Roses is after 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:33:13 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. I was having this discussion with Chelsea and my son Joe. and we were talking about how I don't know phone numbers anymore. I used to remember phone numbers all the time. Matter of fact I knew my family's phone number 361-0080 I still remember my childhood phone number

01:33:32 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 5:

I remember my grandma's phone number is my childhood phone. It's crazy. Always. But I

01:33:36 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 4:

cannot remember phone numbers other than my wife Chelsea's. The only phone number that I know by heart is Chelsea's I do not know and I pay for Joe, Jacob and Luke's phone numbers I have no clue what their phone numbers are by heart I have to go in and basically get them off of a contact so we were having this discussion and Joe said you should ask the listeners and he said that he on the Joe show did this as a topic once and it was a great topic he said you should ask the listeners what's the one phone number that you know that if you got arrested and you needed to make a one phone call that would be the person you would give and let's test it out and see if that person's even going to answer your phone call because if they don't answer your phone call then you got to go to your second phone number what do you do yeah i mean like you're gonna have to ask for your phone i told joe i said if this is the case i'm calling 1-800 hansons i know that number 588-2300 empire and 877 randazzo So those are the numbers. That's a fact.

01:34:38 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 5:

Or 844 Mojo Live. Or 844 Mojo Live.

01:34:41 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. That's why, like, when I learned my grandfather's number way, way, way back in the day, you have to put it to song. That's the only way you're going to commit.

01:34:48 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 5:

There's got to be. Yeah. I don't think Wes knows my phone number. I, by heart, I really don't think he, if he needed to call me from somewhere and he didn't have it, I swear to God, I don't think.

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

I know your number has a different area code. I do not know. I went.

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 2:

funny because whenever your phone number comes up or your contact comes up and i see your name pop up there and i'll look at the number i'm like oh my god she's got it 404 because i'm still in

01:35:08 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 3:

atlanta area code i was too lazy to change my number west's phone number i i always get the last four digits like rearranged really so i may have to try once or twice who's the person that you have missed dialed when you're calling for west i don't well now i have it in my phone you know but like if i didn't i'd probably when i write it down on doctor's forms as my emergency contact i always have to go double check 82 right 19 no it's 89 wait see now you're confusing me wait it's what is it i don't know that's what i'm telling you i honest to god get it wrong

01:35:43 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 2:

it is crazy how you don't remember phone numbers these days because you program it all on your

01:35:47 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 1:

phone i literally know one number and that's because this girl and not recently we were talking and then we decided we shouldn't talk so i deleted her number in front of her but you No, no, she texted me, and I didn't save it. So not every time she texts, I read the number, and I know her number not by heart. That's literally the only person's number I know.

01:36:05 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. She said, delete my number, and yet she still calls you.

01:36:09 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

It was one of those situations.

01:36:11 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Ashley? How you doing? What's up, Po? Good. How are you guys? We're good. Do you know anybody's phone number?

01:36:19 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 4:

I seriously know, like, eight people's number that I can call. I'm just a number person, I guess. Really? Yeah, I'm good.

01:36:26 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 2:

if i go to jail that is honestly way better than any of us like we wouldn't have no clue

01:36:32 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 4:

we didn't call you ashley so in all fairness though like my parents and my aunt have had the same number like since we got some of them actually my mom's number her and my dad shared when it was like the phone that connected to your to your car like cigarette lighter thing So they've had the same one. But, yeah, I know my parents, my aunt, my husband, my kids.

01:36:57 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 2:

That's good.

01:36:59 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 4:

My sister-in-law.

01:37:00 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 2:

You're a much better mom than I am a dad because I do not know my kids' numbers. Amanda, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:37:07 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Good morning. I would call my father when I'm texting him.

01:37:12 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait. Do you know your dad's number? Do you know your dad's number by heart?

01:37:16 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 5:

I do, yes.

01:37:17 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on one second. Hold on. get Amanda's dad's number we're going to try this one phone call and we're going to see if dad picks up because if that's the only phone number you got then what are you going to do Lydia will you grab that number for me I'm dialing him right now alright dial it up perfect hold on Amanda we're going to try we're going to try this we're calling I do know my mom's I don't know my mom's I'm going to see if your dad actually answers the phone

01:37:44 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 1:

people got to stop changing their numbers too

01:37:47 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

I haven't changed mine in 17 years. That's why I still have an Atlanta area code.

01:37:51 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 2:

I won't change my number, even though I have given it to a bajillion people, including written in on bathroom walls, because I don't know if I'll remember my number. You know what I mean? Like, I would think that that would be hard. Hold on.

01:38:06 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 5:

Hold on right now. If I can leave a name, brief message. Oh, no.

01:38:10 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 2:

Dad's not answering. Oh, you're screwed.

01:38:12 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. You're screwed. Did it show up as a heart number?

01:38:16 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it shows up as an iHeart number. Here, hold on. I'll dial.

01:38:19 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 5:

He doesn't answer calls. He doesn't know.

01:38:21 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, here, we'll dial him. Same way. We'll dial him back again. Here we go. Hold on a second. Stand by for radio broadcasting history here right now.

01:38:29 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 1:

Question. Does that work in jail? Like, if it goes to voicemail, like, do you get another call or that was the only call?

01:38:34 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Somebody call us up and tell us, I've never been to jail. That was a setup, wasn't it? You were trying to see if I said, no, they actually, hold on. I don't think your dad's answering.

01:38:44 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 5:

He might be at work. I was going to say.

01:38:46 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 2:

I think your dad's.

01:38:47 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 5:

I usually answer that word.

01:38:49 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 2:

Really? What kind of work does your dad do?

01:38:51 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 5:

He works at the Ford plant.

01:38:53 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So he's building cars. He's doing fun, cool things that help us.

01:38:57 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 5:

Fun stuff. Yeah.

01:38:59 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 2:

All right, Amanda. He's not answering. I need a sleeper. Is that him? Wait, is that him? Or is that him?

01:39:04 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 5:

I can leave a name, brief message, and a number.

01:39:06 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Let me leave a message for him, Amanda. I'm going to leave a message for him. Ready? Hey, is this Amanda's number? Amanda yeah I met you last night out at the bar in Royal Oak just wanted to tell you that I really love you and man you got the greatest lips I have ever in my life kissed and I'm hoping that you call me back you said that we're going to get together this weekend and do some fun things like you know walk barefoot in your dad's house on his carpet in a living room. I don't know what to say. Bye. We'll take care. All right. Have a great day, Amanda. We'll see you. I couldn't come up with anything funny. Danielle, what's up, Danielle?

01:40:00 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

Hi, so my husband went to jail, and he swore he was calling me when he showed back up a day later, and he was calling the wrong number by one digit.

01:40:11 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 5:

Really? To be him. So what happens then? Kev was talking about that. You don't get a redo on that?

01:40:17 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 1:

I mean, he redoed. He called about 20 times, he said, but I'm like, you know what my voicemail sounds like, so how did you not realize that that was not my message?

01:40:27 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 5:

He was drunk and disorderly.

01:40:30 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's like, I was in a state of panic. So his boss came and got him from jail and dropped him off at home. And he's like, I was calling you. And I'm like, no, you weren't. I have zero missed calls.

01:40:38 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 5:

That is funny. By the way, that is spectacular. What was he in jail for, though? We all have to know.

01:40:46 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 1:

Drunk stuff. Drunk stuff. Well, it wasn't the first time. Probably not the last.

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Sorry you got caught cheating by not deleting those texts you meant to delete. Another War of the Roses is after nine on Mojo in the Morning.

01:42:43 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. I was having this discussion with Chelsea and my son, Joe, and we were talking about how I don't know phone numbers anymore. I used to remember phone numbers all the time. Matter of fact, I knew my family's phone number, 361-0080. I still remember my

01:43:01 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 3:

childhood phone number. I remember my grandma's phone number is my childhood phone. It's crazy.

01:43:06 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 5:

But I cannot remember phone numbers other than my wife, Chelsea's. The only phone number that I know by heart is Chelsea's. I do not know. And I pay for Joe, Jacob and Luke's phone numbers. I have no clue what their phone numbers are by heart. I have to go in and basically get them off of a contact so we were having this discussion and joe said you should ask the listeners and he said that he on the joe show did this as a topic once and it was a great topic he said you should ask the listeners what's the one phone number that you know that if you got arrested and you needed to make a one phone call that would be the person you would give and let's test it out and see if that person's even going to answer your phone call because if they don't answer your phone call then you got to go to your second phone number what do you do yeah i mean like you're gonna have They ask for your phone. I told Joe, I said, if this is the case, I'm calling 1-800-HANSEN-S. I know that number. 588-2300-EMPIRE and 877-RANDASO. Those are the numbers. That's a fact.

01:44:08 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 3:

Or 844-MOJO-LIVE.

01:44:09 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 5:

Or 844-MOJO-LIVE, exactly. That's why, like, when I learned my grandfather's number way, way, way back in the day, you have to put it to song. That's the only way you're going to commit to him.

01:44:17 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 3:

There's got to be, yeah. I don't think Wes knows my phone number. By heart, I really don't think he, if he needed to call me from somewhere and he didn't have it, I swear to God, I don't think.

01:44:26 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 5:

I know your number has a different area code. I do not know. It's funny because whenever your phone number comes up or your contact comes up and I see your name pop up there and I'll look at the number, I'm like, oh my God, she's got it.

01:44:37 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 3:

404 because I'm still in Atlanta area code. I was too lazy to change my number. Wes's phone number, I always get the last four digits like rearranged. Really? So I may have to try once or twice.

01:44:46 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 5:

Who's the person that you have misdialed when you're calling for Wes?

01:44:50 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, now I have it in my phone, you know, but like if I didn't, I'd probably, when I write it down on doctor's forms as my emergency contact, I always have to go double check. I have it right 19 No, it's 89 Wait, see, now you're confusing me Wait

01:45:07 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 4:

What is it, 89, 12? I don't know, that's what I'm telling you I honest to God get it wrong

01:45:12 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 5:

It is crazy how you don't remember phone numbers these days

01:45:15 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 4:

Because you program it all on your phone I literally know one number And that's because this girl and I recently We were talking And then we decided we shouldn't talk So I deleted her number in front of her But you memorized it No, no, she texted me and I didn't save it So not every time she texts, I read the number, and I know her number not by heart. That's literally the only person's number I know.

01:45:35 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 5:

That's funny. She said, delete my number, and yet she still calls you.

01:45:39 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 4:

It was one of those situations.

01:45:41 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Ashley? How you doing? What's up, boo? Good.

01:45:44 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 1:

How are you guys?

01:45:45 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 5:

We're good. Do you know anybody's phone number?

01:45:49 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 1:

I seriously know, like, eight people's number that I can call. I'm just a number person, I guess. Really? Yeah, I'm good if I go to jail.

01:45:57 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 5:

that is honestly way better than any of us like we wouldn't have no clue we didn't call you ashley

01:46:03 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 1:

so in all fairness though like my parents and my aunt have had the same number like since we got some of them actually my mom's number her and my dad shared when it was like the phone that connected to your to your car like cigarette lighter thing so they've had the same one but yeah i know my parents my aunt my husband my kids that's that's good you're a much better

01:46:30 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 5:

mom than i am a dad because i do not know my kids numbers amanda what's happening this mojo in the

01:46:35 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 3:

morning hi hi good morning i would call my father when i'm texting him wait do you know your your

01:46:43 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 5:

dad's number you know your dad's number by heart i do yeah all right hold on one second hold on get Amanda's dad's number we're going to try this one phone call and we're going to see if dad picks up because if that's the only phone number you got then what are you going to do Lydia will you grab that number for me I'm dialing him right now hold on Amanda we're going to try this we're going to try this we're calling I'm going to see if your dad actually answers the phone

01:47:14 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 4:

people got to stop changing their numbers too

01:47:17 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, I haven't changed mine in 17 years.

01:47:19 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 5:

That's why I still have an Atlanta area code. I won't change my number, even though I have given it to a bajillion people, including written in on bathroom walls, because I don't know if I'll remember my number. You know what I mean? Like, I would think that that would be hard. Hold on.

01:47:36 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 4:

I'm on the phone right now. But if you leave a name, brief message.

01:47:40 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 5:

Dad's not answering. Oh, you're screwed. You're screwed.

01:47:42 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. You're screwed. Did it show up as a heart number?

01:47:46 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it shows up as an iHeart number. Here, hold on.

01:47:48 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 3:

If he doesn't answer calls, he doesn't know.

01:47:50 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, here, we'll dial him back again. Here we go. Hold on a second. Stand by for radio broadcasting history here right now.

01:47:59 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 4:

Question, does that work in jail? Like, if it goes to voicemail, like, do you get another call or that was your only call?

01:48:04 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Somebody call us up and tell us, I've never been to jail. That was a setup, wasn't it? You were trying to see if I said, no, they actually, hold on. I don't think your dad's answering.

01:48:14 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 3:

He might be at work. I was going to say.

01:48:16 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 5:

I think your dad's.

01:48:17 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 3:

I usually answer that word.

01:48:18 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Really? What kind of work does your dad do?

01:48:21 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 3:

He works at the Ford plant.

01:48:23 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So he's building cars. He's doing fun, cool things that help us.

01:48:27 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 3:

Fun stuff. Yeah.

01:48:29 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 5:

All right, Amanda. He's not answering. Is that him? Wait, is that him or is that him?

01:48:34 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 2:

I can leave a name, brief message, and a number.

01:48:36 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 5:

01:49:29 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So my husband went to jail, and he swore he was calling me when he showed back up a day later, and he was calling the wrong number by one digit.

01:49:41 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 5:

Really? To be him. So what happens then? Kev was talking about that. You don't get a redo on that?

01:49:47 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he redoed. He called about 20 times, he said. But I'm like, you know what my voicemail sounds like. So how did you not realize that that was not my message?

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

He was drunk and disorderly.

01:50:00 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's like, I was in a state of panic. So his boss came and got him from jail and dropped him off at home. And he's like, I was calling you. And I'm like, no, you weren't. I have zero missed calls.

01:50:08 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 1:

That is funny. By the way, that is spectacular. What was he in jail for, though? We all have to know.

01:50:16 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 3:

Drunk stuff. Drunk stuff. Well, it wasn't the first time. Probably not the last.

01:50:21 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man.

01:50:23 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Be part of the show. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:50:31 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. I'm not ready for football. Why not? The Lions are kicking off their season tonight. I just don't feel like 90 degrees with 100% feels and stuff like that makes me feel like I want football, even though it is Lions football. Like, I'm, you know, excited for the Lions, but give it a little bit of time. It feels like, you know, it just ended, you know?

01:50:55 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, we do have a little bit of time. It's just the Hall of Fame game. Like you mentioned, not all of our starters will be playing, but it's the same time every year. I'm excited, man. Today will be the first Thursday that we'll have football, and it will continue until February. Wow. So lock in.

01:51:09 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 1:

Do you really think, and I don't want to sound like a downer, do you really think the Lions are going to have as good a season as they had last year?

01:51:19 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't think we'll have as good of a regular season as we had last year, but I think we'll go further in the playoffs, and hopefully what we all want is a Super Bowl. yeah god i hope so according to the logo it's we're gonna be there let's go honestly i would

01:51:32 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 1:

give up the fact that what did they lose only two games in the regular season last year or something like that 14 and 12 i think yeah i think so something like that yeah i would give up that great of a run during the season even though it felt so good i mean for the fact that they do go a little bit further like i want i i do want to see what happened to them not last year but the year before happen where they're a half away from getting to a super bowl game yeah you know we don't

01:51:58 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 2:

need home court or home field advantage although it'll be nice i don't need nfc championship and confetti like all that's okay all that looks good is for sure the only win that matters is the last

01:52:09 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 1:

win of the season yeah and that's the super bowl um have you guys noticed this and you know shannon i don't know if you paid attention to this i know kevin i have talked a little bit about this have Have you guys heard about all these players that are getting in trouble for gambling on sports?

01:52:24 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what is happening? It's crazy. And it's all sports. It's known that you are not allowed to do that.

01:52:29 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 1:

So all these, lately it's baseball players, but there were a bunch of basketball players that were getting in trouble for this, including a Detroit Pistons player, a guy that I thought the Pistons were going to resign. And it seemed like they were all set to until this story broke. But Malik Beasley, there's allegations about him gambling on games. And then in baseball, there's a ton of these baseball players for the Cleveland Indians that have actually two of them that got suspended. But there's a couple that they're investigating that are betting on what is called prop bets. Like one of their pitchers that they just recently suspended, the guy was betting on there was an excessive amount, I guess, of bets on him throwing a ball his first pitch. and a lot of people saw it from one particular app that it was going through and then they went back and looked at the app and it was his number. So he's betting on himself? He was betting on himself. He made it happen? And the pitch that he threw was so out of, it was a wild pitch, the first pitch that he won his bet on.

01:53:31 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 2:

It was obvious.

01:53:32 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:53:33 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 2:

You're a dummy. You risk your entire career? Come on, man.

01:53:37 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 1:

But why are these, but here's the thing I don't understand. Why are these guys not to think that they're going to get in trouble for this and they're going to be known? And then I saw this story yesterday. Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas, they're saying right now, is in trouble. They say he was working with the mob on poker games.

01:53:54 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

The Israeli mob or something like that. But he bonded himself out. So he's out now. And he tweeted and said something like, that doesn't have anything to do with me. I just rented the house. Or something to that effect.

01:54:04 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

But he threw a Gilbert Arenas poker game. That was what it was called. It was a poker tournament.

01:54:09 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 2:

I have dirty about him. Really?

01:54:11 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:54:11 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 2:

How many people throw poker games? You know what I mean? I don't know. It can't be that big of a deal.

01:54:16 - 01:54:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. I can't believe how many, and this is something that's big with gambling. I cannot believe how many girls that I've had conversations with, women that I've had conversations with, that have been recently telling me that their relationships are struggling because their guy does nothing but gamble all the time.

01:54:37 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 3:

That would drive me crazy, yeah.

01:54:39 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Are there any listeners that's, that's man is so addicted to his gambling app that it's gotten to a point where he'd rather do that than do you? Um, 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548. I talked to a girl just recently. They, I think she, uh, is ending her relationship or talked about ending her relationship. And she was.

01:55:00 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 6:

telling uh chelsea and i uh we saw her out and she was telling us that uh he'd always be on his phone gambling and she didn't know what he was doing and then found out that this guy was non-stop just spending a bunch of money doing a bunch of gambling and she got to a point where she just said it just it became him not wanting to do anything because he was gambling so much

01:55:21 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 4:

and the tougher thing is like you can tell during the winter months it's probably harder because that's when football is back. That's when basketball is back. That's when all of the sports, hockey and even baseball in late October, all of the sports are back at one time. And I've heard stories and seen situations where you can see people's moods change. Like, you know not to mess with a certain somebody if they're feeling a type of way on a Sunday afternoon because the parlay didn't hit.

01:55:47 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I would not want to be in a relationship where that was the case. What up, Lainey?

01:55:52 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, so it's not the same exact thing about relationships, But everybody at my certain job talking, like, every single person, we're all servers and just while everybody's on a break or outside smoking, they're all just gambling on FanDuel for sports. Like, every single person is just spending every dime that they make.

01:56:13 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 6:

Male or female? Or both?

01:56:16 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

Both.

01:56:17 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 6:

Really? It's both. Really?

01:56:19 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 1:

It's literally like they're all just spending every dime that they make betting to win more money for, like, sports bets.

01:56:25 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 6:

So here's a question. If I'm sitting at my table waiting for my meal to come out or a refill on my drink, I know that you guys are in the back by the dumpster there putting a little wager on the Lions.

01:56:39 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes, literally, it's insane. I don't care if it's football, baseball, they're all just outside betting.

01:56:44 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 6:

That's unreal. Wow. Katie, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:56:48 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I was calling about the gambling problem. So my husband, I noticed he was being a little awkward and on his phone a lot more and a little more secretive. And I had gotten a little bit of inheritance from my father. And then I went to go spend something one day. And behold, my husband had gambled thousands and thousands of dollars. Oh, really?

01:57:09 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 6:

How much inheritance are we talking about?

01:57:13 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 2:

It was a larger amount from some property that was sold from Texas from where I'm from. And, you know, I was saving because we were going to buy another house. And that's what we had. and then my kids needed something, so I wanted to do it. He gave me the runaround over and over about where, oh, I put it here. I had to put it here. I had to be looking crazy looking for it over and over and over. And then, you know, finally I was like, where is it at? And then I started thinking. He was like, then he tried to put it on me, and he was like, no, I gambled it.

01:57:39 - 01:57:39 | Unknown:

Man.

01:57:39 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. And I was like, are you serious? And, I mean, we're talking about, like, you know, over thousands of dollars. In a small amount of serious.

01:57:48 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 6:

What's amazing is that it would be depressing that he was spending his own money on that, let alone he's spending the money that you inherited from your loved one. Selena, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

01:58:00 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:58:01 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on?

01:58:03 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 3:

So I dated a guy or talked to him that he would, like, pick up shifts from work because we worked at the same place, and he would gamble it all the way. Like, he would sit on the shift and just gamble all of his money, and then we would, like, hang out, and he's like, hey, can you pay for dinner? Can you pay for this?

01:58:23 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 6:

Wow. So this is the kind of guy you're dating, is a guy that's picking up.

01:58:28 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 3:

Not anymore.

01:58:29 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I was going to say. That's crazy. It's wild. I wonder if there are guys that spend more time gambling than they do dating, like, if that's, like, their thing. Like, if they're out on apps.

01:58:43 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

You get your screen time notification on Sunday, and it's, you know.

01:58:48 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 6:

Can I ask the guys on the show this question? Because I don't know. I mean, I don't know. Maybe the women on the show do it, too, but I just didn't assume. But Kevin and Zach, do you guys gamble? Because we never talk about it. I don't at all.

01:59:00 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm not big.

01:59:01 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 6:

I do a little bit during football season, but that's it. I'm kind of controlled.

01:59:04 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 4:

Same. I mean, legally, I can't do it for, like, basketball or college sports, I don't think. But football is the only thing I do. I'm terrible at it. I lose a lot more than I win, and for those reasons, I'm out.

01:59:15 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. I'm looking at the video camera right now. I'm looking at the video camera right now. Zach's not even paying attention to our show right now.

01:59:22 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 5:

What is he on? He's on DraftKings. Look at that. He's on the DraftKings app.

01:59:26 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 4:

What is he betting on?

01:59:27 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

01:59:28 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 4:

Is it Junior Olympics?

01:59:30 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I think so.

01:59:31 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

You can bet on that.

01:59:32 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 5:

The spelling bee?

01:59:33 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 4:

What does he got going on? What is that? The possum racing?

01:59:36 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 5:

Zach. Zach. Zach. Zach! He's not even paying attention.

01:59:44 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 4:

I hope he wins. Whatever he's doing.

01:59:46 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 5:

I think he's... I think the guy's... Our boss needs a... Zach, somebody go... Bianca, can you go grab Zach?

01:59:58 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 6:

This is what he does when the podcast...

02:00:00 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Don't get up fast enough.

02:00:01 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 3:

Bianca's running down every night.

02:00:02 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hold on. Bianca, get him. Initial A, are you there?

02:00:12 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:00:13 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, here comes Zach.

02:00:14 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 5:

You're messing with me.

02:00:14 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 4:

Huh?

02:00:15 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 5:

You're messing with me.

02:00:16 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 4:

What are you doing? Why were you in there gambling?

02:00:17 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 5:

I was talking to you the whole time.

02:00:18 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 4:

I didn't hear you.

02:00:19 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 5:

Are you serious?

02:00:20 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 4:

No. Oh, I meant to... I could see you on camera doing... What were you betting on?

02:00:24 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 5:

MMA and horse racing.

02:00:26 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

Horse racing? Yeah. That's very random for you.

02:00:29 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, initial A. I've got to yell at Zach for one second. Jolly Ranchers in lane three. MMA during the show? Yeah. Why are you gambling during the show?

02:00:38 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes it's a little fun, you know? The look of guilt on your face. Well, I didn't do anything.

02:00:43 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 4:

What's up, bae? How are you doing?

02:00:45 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm good. How are you?

02:00:47 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

02:00:49 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 1:

So I had the same issue, just my husband was spending money on a game, and it was to the point where he wouldn't do anything with us, with the family, and would just be on his phone nonstop.

02:01:07 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And was he winning?

02:01:10 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 1:

He wasn't playing to win. He was just spending money. It was at the point where it was over $20,000.

02:01:19 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wow. Oh, that's a problem.

02:01:21 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 1:

And he didn't stop until I gave him divorce papers.

02:01:26 - 02:01:27 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:01:27 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 1:

That's when he woke up.

02:01:29 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Did you guys follow through and do the divorce, or did you pull back?

02:01:33 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 1:

We did not.

02:01:33 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 4:

Wow. So it actually woke him up a little bit?

02:01:36 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 1:

It did.

02:01:37 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's wild.

02:01:39 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 1:

It was terrible, because we fought for two years about this game.

02:01:42 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 4:

And you have little kids that he wasn't spending time with, too?

02:01:47 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:01:47 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's sad. That is really, really sad. It's crazy. Let me ask you this question. Do I have to give Zach divorce papers?

02:01:59 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 3:

Lions coach Dan Campbell. Do you think about Mojo in the morning a lot?

02:02:03 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 5:

That's all I think about, man.

02:02:04 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 3:

We hear you, Dan. We appreciate you listening to the show.

02:02:06 - 02:02:14 | Speaker 5:

That's all I can think about is you guys and how I set you up for the best possible advantage I can give you to have a season, I swear to you, man.

02:02:14 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Dan. We just want to make sure you're not the same old Lions after all this is done. I just need you to trust me. That's all. Okay, we trust you. Please. After hearing today's show, Coach Campbell, do you have any advice for this show?

02:02:25 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30s shannon with the dirty what's going on shannon so american

02:02:52 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 2:

eagle is standing by its latest ad campaign starring euphoria star sydney sweeney even as it stores up all sorts of controversy online we've been talking about this for the past couple of days critics on tiktok and elsewhere accused the ad of pushing a message that favors white beauty standards especially with its focus on sydney's blonde hair and blue eyes some calling it nazi coded nazi propaganda but according to some new surveys 72 percent of american eagle customers actually love the ad and will continue to or start shopping at american eagle it really

02:03:30 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 4:

didn't do anything they think just a lot of noise did they ask uh yesterday i think i thought i saw there was a story that was out that they asked somebody asked in the press conference that they had with uh trump about it and they asked trump about it and he actually knew who sydney sweeney was which i was kind of surprised by i mean well then check it check that but he was kind of like you know supportive and thought that it was they were reading deep and it was too much woke culture

02:03:55 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

trying to go after it yeah i did this story earlier this morning but worth doing it again after facing a whole lot of backlash on the tour that he was just on his forget tomorrow tour just Justin Timberlake now allegedly believes his future, his career lies within sync. And if you missed the dirty about this tour, I mean, fans called his performances lazy. He wasn't even singing half the time. He was letting the crowd sing for him. People were walking out mid-show. Ticket prices were being slashed because they weren't just selling. It was a big old mess. And so these disappointing fan reactions have allegedly made Justin realize that audiences want all of the guys, not just him solo. So his plans for the foreseeable future, he's going to rest, maybe film a few things here and there, and then regroup with JC, Lance, Joey, and Chris, either for a tour or for a Vegas-style residency. Kind of in the same vein of what the Backstreet Boys have done recently with their little mini-reaction.

02:05:00 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 3:

residency at the sphere now while that may be true that people would like to see in sync that's not the reason they pissed at you just like they want you to show up and give them a show right yeah i

02:05:12 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 2:

agree with you former nba star gilbert arenas was arrested yesterday along with five other people including a suspected member of an israeli organized crime group and he was arrested on suspicion of hosting illegal high-stakes poker games at the L.A. mansion that he owns. All six defendants charged with one count of conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business. If convicted, they would face a max sentence of five years in federal prison. He did plead not guilty. He was released yesterday after paying a $50,000 bond. you can't hold me baby you can't hold me that was him what do you sound like you got a breath he was walking down the stairs okay yeah ed sheeran dropping a little teaser of some new music on tiktok yesterday Maybe something we'll hear or you will hear if you win tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Fest.

02:06:20 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I'm Ed Sheeran with Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:23 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

And over the past year or two, cosmetic surgeons have noticed a huge surge in clients asking for fixes to what has been dubbed Ozempic face, this hollowed out, aged appearance caused by rapid weight loss from drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy, Montero, Zep Bound. People are losing facial fat faster than the skin can bounce back, leading to saggy skin and wrinkles, just like a deflated look.

02:06:51 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 3:

The example is which Kardashian's ex, the one guy? Oh, Scott Disick. Scott Disick looks crazy. Yeah, he looks real bad.

02:07:00 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 2:

So cosmetic surgeons and med spas are seeing an influx in patients wanting fillers, skin tightening treatments, facelifts, fat grafting, net lift, eyelid surgeries, especially for people over 40. Yeah, like those. You can get your eyelids done? Yeah, absolutely. Well, a lot of people are getting, that's actually a very popular surgery right now where the eyelids are folding over and drooping.

02:07:25 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, that happens with age too. Yeah, it does. Mr. Potato Head out here. Wait till you get old. I'm never getting my eyelids done.

02:07:35 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 2:

That's insane, bro. Med spas are packed. Your eyelids, y'all? For real. Where are we drawing a line? I actually know a ton of people who have just had that done or are getting it done.

02:07:44 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 3:

You got to tell these people no. First comes Pilates. Next comes eyelid surgery. You watch. It's happening to you. Love surgery.

So we were having the discussion before the show about this next topic, and Shannon was telling a story about a particular couple, guy, specifically. And I'm going to have you tell the story on the air, and then I want to see what listeners' feelings are about this.

02:09:52 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 2:

a girl that I know introduced me to her husband recently for the first time I've known her not well we see each other

02:10:00 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 3:

very infrequently but over the past couple of years I've you know come into contact with her a couple of times I've known about her husband she's obviously shared stories and I follow them on social media and stuff but I've never actually met him until recently met him for the first time and I mean this when I say this the nicest most personable guy in the whole entire world just really enjoyed my conversation with him but the whole time I'm talking to him I'm going I think he's gay like I was so confused and yes that is being judgy and I know I shouldn't be but I couldn't help but think I feel like he doesn't like her

02:10:44 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't know wait what was it that made you you think that

02:10:49 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 3:

the stuff that he was talking about the way that he was talking mannerisms just a lot of things really and i was trying not to think about it the whole time that

02:11:00 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 1:

i was talking to him but were you talking to me i was you know what's funny is uh i was saying to you this morning before the show i was telling you that i know a few couples where the where we're when we know and we're we are acquaintances and friends and stuff that chelsea and i will go it just feels like interesting like you know what I mean

02:11:21 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 3:

like one my eyebrow was right

02:11:24 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 1:

and then here's where the gaydar comes into play because I have the worst I can't figure it out

02:11:29 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 3:

I will say that too I have the worst gaydar

02:11:32 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 1:

our gay son will then say you know he's gay and I'm like how do you know he's gay and he's like he can just sense it right away and so that in one particular couple he kind of said that but they're still married to each other you know

02:11:47 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 2:

what i mean so man some people they get married and they ain't always in love yeah so it's a

02:11:54 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

possibility it's funny because that's and that's how old are these guys uh i would say late 40s

02:12:02 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 1:

okay so that's late 40s i would say i see that you i think that you see that in like people who are like maybe in their 40s or or so or 50s like that generation only because there wasn't gay marriage like when they were younger yeah and and I think that there's a lot of people like there's a lot of people I think that want to have kids and their families want them to have kids and then I think that what ends up happening is that they kind of hide a little bit of their you know uh just being gay in the closet you know what I mean yeah and then eventually I think it

02:12:38 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 2:

comes out I really do yeah I hope it comes out you hope so they just get tired of hiding or their family has expressed, you know, dismay.

02:12:45 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 3:

Which that is so incredibly sad to me. But this was just, it caught me off guard because I had heard about him. I've seen pictures of him. And then when I started talking, I thought, oh.

02:12:56 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I know a lady with a gay husband. But what do you say? They're not my friends or nothing. I just see them out sometimes. Yeah. I'll be like, your husband gay? I don't know how you don't know it. You don't say that to her, though. No, I say it in my head. Yeah. Or I say it to the people I'm with, like, look at her and her gay husband. do you sorry

02:13:15 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 3:

why I'm laughing

02:13:16 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 2:

I just want people I really just want people to like live their life do you know what I mean

02:13:20 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 3:

and I agree with you

02:13:21 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 2:

like be happy bro

02:13:22 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 3:

but I know that in some situations that's more difficult than just you know being able to to live their life

02:13:27 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 1:

do the wives of guys that eventually came out do they like say oh yeah I knew all along I just didn't want to say anything to anybody and I was just kind of happy and comfortable do you think they knew

02:13:40 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 2:

they know all the time or is some of them in denial or some of them just completely unaware?

02:13:45 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I don't know how you could know. I think you have to know.

02:13:48 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 2:

You feel like it's harder for a man to, I guess, pretend not to be gay than a woman in a relationship with a guy?

02:13:55 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Honestly, I think that it's got to be tough for both. But I think that women who are gay cover it up sometimes way better than guys. They just happen to be like the more masculine maybe in the relationship or the more domineering in the relationship sometimes.

02:14:14 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Because we always talk about the guys being gay in the marriage. I would love to hear from a lady who's truly lesbian at the core.

02:14:22 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 3:

I actually know somebody who was married and had kids, and then she's now divorced and with a female. Was she always in the females? And she's very, very happy. I don't know. I don't know her well enough to know the answer to that. Did you ever catch her looking at your booty?

02:14:38 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 1:

No. Did you ever stop it? I haven't. Did you ever think that? No, I really didn't.

02:14:42 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 3:

Was it a surprise to you? Yeah, it was a surprise.

02:14:43 - 02:14:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm always surprised more by the women.

02:14:45 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying.

02:14:46 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 1:

It becomes a shocker to me. Esvaldo is on the phone with us right now. Did I say that right? Or do I sound like I'm an idiot for saying it like that?

02:14:57 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 2:

No, you said it already. going all right wait wait a second is this as is this as valdo or is this michael jackson

02:15:05 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 4:

what's going on i'm i'm doing all right how about you guys good what's up man what do you want to say um um well first of all first line first time long time i don't even know what to say as valdo as valdo's on the phone yeah um i was just i'm here to say that i agree with shannon Like, sometimes there's so many signs that you can't even ignore. Like, you want to ignore them, but, like, man. Like, they just make it so hard to not make that impression about them.

02:15:38 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 2:

Do you have friends that you're talking about, or what are you talking about?

02:15:42 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I have people that I know that aren't. And people that I've, in the past, that I've, like, made that impression, and then they end up being it.

02:15:51 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Okay. And are they in relationships with, you know, with in heterosexual relationships and they're just kind of going along with it?

02:16:02 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, I there's this one. I won't say names, but particular that I feel is heterosexual, but hasn't said.

02:16:14 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:16:14 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 4:

And it's just, like, you can tell, but you can never say it because it's always, like, their thing to say, you know?

02:16:24 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Are we talking about ourselves, Osvaldo? I don't know. No, no. I'm, like, thinking to myself, he's talking hypothetically, I know somebody, his name is Osvaldo. Right. That's why he didn't care how you say it as man. It's made up. I'm thinking to myself, come on. His real name, dude. Come on. By the way, it's a texter 248 says it's called a lavender marriage. I've heard that before. I've heard that term before. Sarah, what's up?

02:16:54 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 1:

Hey. Hi, people. Hi. Love your show. Aw. We love you, too. Thanks. So we have really close friends who have children that got married, and they were high school sweetheart. and they were together for about 11 years in total marriage and pre-marriage and they got married they had a hundred thousand plus wedding and then like three years after no I'm gonna say six it was six years they got divorced because first she came out and was lesbian and then a A year later, he posted on his Facebook the gay pride frame, and now they are both in gay relationships. Wow. See, I like that.

02:17:48 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 2:

I actually think that that's actually nice. I like they ended up having kids together. I think that that's nice that they do it that way.

02:17:58 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 1:

They did not have kids together. Oh, they didn't. Okay. They had kids with their significant others outside after. Oh, they had kids. So we definitely think that they were not, I mean, I think that they were trying to deny it and then just couldn't.

02:18:12 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

That's very rare that you would ever see a situation like that where you see a gay man and a gay woman get together and marry, and then eventually they both come out as being gay. You know what I mean? I think that's how I do it. No, I think it's usually one of them is shocked by it. No, I've heard both. Really? Using each other as, using each other as, because I, that's a lavender marriage. That's a lavender marriage?

02:18:33 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just looked up the definition. Okay. It's an agreement that they are both concealing.

02:18:38 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 2:

I like that more than somebody's heart getting broken and then it turns into bitterness and sadness and I've been duped or lied to. River, what's up, River?

02:18:50 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 5:

Hey, first time caller. Hey, River's on the phone.

02:18:56 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

02:18:57 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 5:

This is a thing that I had to weigh in on. And so I am a bisexual individual, and we exist. And so, like, it's not saying that obviously it doesn't happen where people get into marriages and realize that, oh, I'm not attracted to this gender, like, at all. But also, you could just be picking up on, you know, the gay half of somebody. The gay half.

02:19:23 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 2:

Everybody's got a half, you're saying.

02:19:25 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, not everybody, but anybody who says sexuality is a choice, maybe it's a choice for them.

02:19:31 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 2:

Hey, quick question for you, River, on this.

02:19:33 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:19:33 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 2:

I've heard this argument before, that it's something where a woman can be bisexual, but a guy cannot be bisexual.

02:19:43 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 5:

That is scientifically inaccurate. I'm also a psychologist who studies this, so that is absolutely no supporting evidence for that.

02:19:50 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

So the reason why I've heard that before is because, and I've heard it from my gay guy friends, I have a gay guy friend that always says once you actually have the act, then you're.

02:20:00 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 4:

You realize that, you know, where women, women can, women are in bisexual relationships. They may, you know, test out or dabble in, in both. And then the guy, once the guy has it, it's like, no, he's gay. Like, I've heard that from, from.

02:20:17 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 2:

Maybe that's just like a societal.

02:20:19 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's, that's his belief as a gay man.

02:20:21 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 2:

But yeah. Quick question. Yeah. Quick question.

02:20:24 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 4:

Quick question for you though. Should you say it? Should you tell the person that your relationship right away? Because I think that if you get married to somebody, if you marry somebody, and then all of a sudden, halfway through the marriage, you go cheat at all, no matter if the person's male or female, you go cheat at all, that's hurtful, or you go into other things. But if you go out and then have, like, a full undercover type of a life, I think that's got to be even more hurtful.

02:20:50 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, cheating is cheating, and it doesn't really matter who it's with. Like, nobody should be doing that to anybody. That is not okay. um and i'm wondering why people i mean some people don't figure out that they're attracted to the same sex right away like that because society says it's wrong or whatever like they don't figure it out and so maybe as soon as they figure it out they tell their spouse like hey i'm kind of attracted to these people but i'm still monogamous with you so like i'm not going to cheat or whatever yeah just something to know um but if you're married to somebody i would hope that that was a part of your life if you knew about it you would be willing to share with them like we should be marrying people we're open with. How many times

02:21:30 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 4:

do we ever see a woman who is gay and attracted to women and then gets married to another woman but leaves the woman for a man? Does that ever happen?

02:21:43 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 5:

Or vice versa?

02:21:44 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 4:

Or two gay men together and they're happily together and then all of a sudden they cheat with a woman. That's got to be very I want to see that. That's equal. You want to see that? I think we need to see that.

02:22:00 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 3:

That's probably right.

02:22:01 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

I want equal opportunity for everybody. I want to see that.

02:22:04 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

You know what, Mojo, I think you're right that once that kind of thing starts happening, we have reached a level of equality that nobody has assumed to be straight.

02:22:15 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 4:

Great. Then people will understand. Quick question for you. Do you think, because all of us in this studio call ourselves straight? Do you think that that's all true, or do you think any of us are actually maybe bi and we're just hiding it? And if so, who do you think is most bi?

02:22:37 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 3:

I think that sexuality is a very personal journey, so I'm not putting labels on anybody. Come on.

02:22:44 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 5:

If Mojo was an Olympian, he'd be a pole vaulter, I tell you that much.

02:22:48 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 3:

What's wrong with it?

02:22:50 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 5:

Come on. Have fun with it all the time.

02:22:54 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 3:

Have fun with it. You got a lucky wife, all right?

02:22:58 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how many women in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo are praying that you would say that Shannon is in the closet as a bisexual woman?

02:23:10 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 3:

If Shannon wants to figure that out about herself, she can. Do you want to help her, River?

02:23:16 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 5:

Say that, girl. It's going both ways. She starts giggling on that one. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:23:35 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 4:

And by the way, I'm standing on this right now. I'm standing on a platform right now to say this. That Chrisley dad is definitely not gay. There is no way he's gay.

02:23:44 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, he's a...

02:23:46 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you say so.

02:23:49 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 2:

You're just reminding me I have a clip about them in the dirty.

02:23:51 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 4:

That guy is not, there is no way.

02:23:54 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:54 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 5:

First time I seen that show, I was like, they married? Yeah. To each other? Yeah. Ain't no way.

02:24:02 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 4:

All right. War of the Roses.

02:24:04 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:24:11 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 4:

Alexis.

02:24:12 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:24:13 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, why do you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you?

02:24:18 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 2:

So my friend sent me that she saw my boyfriend on the T app.

02:24:24 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 4:

The T app is the app where girls go and just talk smack or talk crap about guys that they've dated.

02:24:33 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like exposing, you know, if they're cheaters or if they're like, you know, what's the T on these guys?

02:24:40 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:24:40 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 2:

And she said that, like, a lot of girls were saying that he's always sliding their DMs, that he's really flirty. And it was like multiple times. Multiple people were saying this about my boyfriend.

02:24:53 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

Is it true?

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is true, because I saw him in some girls' DMs.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 1:

he was, what, flirting back and forth with her?

02:25:05 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 2:

It was weird. It was like this girl, Kelsey, and it was just her phone number. But it kind of looked like all the messages had been deleted.

02:25:16 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 1:

Except for her phone number was there.

02:25:19 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:25:20 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 1:

So did you see him flirting back and forth, or you just saw a phone number?

02:25:24 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 2:

I just saw a phone number, but it just looked so sus. It looked like there had been conversation, but it had been deleted.

02:25:34 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 1:

Did you see any other things going on between him and any other girls?

02:25:39 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

I saw some DMs with a couple other girls, and, like, I made him show me, and they're just, it's all, you know, innocent enough.

02:25:49 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 1:

So you made him show you, but yet you still saw one that had a girl's phone number in it?

02:25:57 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:25:58 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 1:

We are going to do something a little bit different because we have that girl's number and we have that girl's name. We were thinking about doing one of the calls that we do where we'll have Bianca from the show call him up, try to be this girl and see if he falls for the fact that some girl that he's hitting up on Instagram is calling him up.

02:26:22 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 4:

Which is only going to work, by the way, if they haven't talked yet.

02:26:25 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 1:

Do you know what I mean? Although we've done it before in the past And as crazy as it sounds These guys were They literally just had a conversation with them And didn't even realize they weren't talking to the right person But will you do us a favor Will you mute your phone and not say a word And Bianca are you up for this Alright we're going to call And we're going to talk to your boyfriend And we're going to have Bianca or What was that girl's name

02:26:51 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Her name was Kelsey

02:26:54 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 1:

We're going to have Kelsey call Brandon.

02:27:08 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:27:09 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey, this is Brandon.

02:27:12 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is.

02:27:13 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 3:

Hey, it's Kelsey. How are you?

02:27:16 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hey, I'm all right. How are you doing, sweetheart?

02:27:18 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 3:

Good. What are you doing?

02:27:22 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, nothing.

02:27:23 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 3:

just hanging out i got you what time do you work today 10 30 oh okay okay it's not bad um

02:27:33 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 4:

10 30 to like 6 30 something like that okay what time do you get off do you want to do something maybe after uh man just jumping right in there to meet up already huh yeah i mean why not don't want to be don't want to be uh pen pals or something are you just talking to other girls

02:27:53 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 3:

Is that why?

02:27:55 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. I wouldn't be talking to you if I was talking to somebody else. Are you sure?

02:28:02 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Why would I lie? I'm just making sure. I just want to make sure that I'm the only one you're talking to. Because I'm not really about that.

02:28:10 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah. I'm not, like, all over the place.

02:28:16 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. I'm just making sure. Because I'm looking for a relationship, so I only want one person.

02:28:21 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 4:

you're looking for the real thing that husband or something

02:28:27 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't know about husband yeah but I mean taking it slow you know so like what do you want to do do you have anything in mind if you want to hang out it could be another day too if you want it doesn't have to be today

02:28:41 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 4:

we could probably grab drinks at some point probably not tonight because that's a little soon it's a little quick um are you doing we could probably go out after him okay are you doing anything this weekend uh not on sunday saturday i have something but sunday i'm free okay let me jump on here real

02:29:04 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 1:

quick and just stop you before you go any further and get yourself into more trouble

02:29:11 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 4:

than you already are right now brandon why am i who are you why am i in trouble

02:29:17 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, I would think that Brandon, a guy who is in a relationship with a girl and dating somebody, like you are dating Alexis, would not want her to hear you talking to another woman and trying to basically connect with her and hook up with her.

02:29:39 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what you're talking about, man.

02:29:43 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 1:

Brandon, this is the mojo.

02:29:44 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm just having a conversation.

02:29:45 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 1:

This is the mojo in the morning show. and Alexis is on the phone right now and just heard your conversation that you had with Kelsey, otherwise known as Bianca, from our show. and he hangs up that doesn't sound like he's not having conversations with other people too it sounded like he was as calm as can be Alexis

02:30:24 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

yeah that doesn't sound like that was the first time

02:30:30 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't sound like a first time, does it? Wow. It's amazing how calm he was.

02:30:39 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 3:

And the promises of, I'm not lying. I'm not in, you know, I only want to be in a relationship with one person.

02:30:48 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 1:

He's not.

02:30:49 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 4:

How does he have a time?

02:30:52 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, but he's not answering our calls now. He's bumping the call that we keep calling back with.

02:30:59 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 4:

Are you trying to call him back?

02:31:01 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 1:

We're trying to call him right now. Are you getting anything from him as he texts you? Or can you text him right now and say, call me now? And then see if he calls you. And then if he does, you can merge our call?

02:31:16 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm going to text him right now.

02:31:19 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

I mean, he was full on ready to go.

02:31:22 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 3:

No hesitation whatsoever. Well, it was a little too soon. Yeah. Yeah, what the hell?

02:31:29 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 4:

It's too soon, but I'll be down to cheat on Sunday.

02:31:33 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 1:

Has he read your text?

02:31:37 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 4:

He doesn't have his read receipt on. He's not handing me back, though.

02:31:43 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one sec, okay? We'll come back and see if he gets in touch with you. Ha ha! Busted again!

02:31:49 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 5:

We were both back naked, banging on the bathroom floor. It's your home for War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. Don't miss this on Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:01 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 1:

When we come back here next, an update for you on this War of the Roses, but I also want to bring something up. The idea that he's talking to girls and DMing other girls, I just wanted to ask this and throw this out as a question. Is it cheating just to be DMing with girls that are not your girlfriend? Like if a guy's just DMing back and forth. I don't think so. Yes. You don't think it is? You do think it is. Let's talk about it. We're going to talk about it coming up here next on Mojo in the Morning. Don't go anywhere. War of the Roses.

02:32:37 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 5:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:55 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay, what time do you get off?

02:32:56 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to do something, maybe, after? Man, I'm just jumping right in there to meet up already, huh? Yeah, I mean, why not? Don't want to be pen pals or something? Are you just talking to other girls? Is that why? No, no, no. I wouldn't be talking to you if I was talking to somebody else. Are you sure? Yeah, why would I lie?

02:33:23 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 1:

Why would I lie?

02:33:26 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 5:

Because you're lying Right Unbelievable

02:33:28 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 1:

War of the Roses here Great job by Bianca And Colleen And Bustin Alexis' Guy And He ends up hanging up Right at the end of the thing Alexis

02:33:44 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

02:33:46 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 1:

Still nothing from him, huh?

02:33:49 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I just texted him again

02:33:50 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 1:

We're gonna to see what kind of updates we can get from you on this. This has got to be really hard for you to sit back.

02:34:06 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 4:

I don't know why I feel so shocked, because I think I knew this already.

02:34:10 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 3:

It's one thing to read it or hear about it. It's another thing to actually hear it.

02:34:16 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:34:18 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang on one sec. That T app, by the way, going to get you burned. Guys, watch out. Some of these guys that we get in War of the Roses are interesting. Like when we'll get these entries all the time, when I ask you to text cheater to 95500, what's the sign that he's cheating? Well, he's DMing other girls. How many guys are DMing other girls?

02:34:42 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 3:

While in relationships.

02:34:44 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

And you sit there and you think back to yourself. you're like, okay, well, that is about as sketchy of a situation because you're doing it on, I'm assuming, Instagram or maybe Facebook, and you're going into their DM.

02:35:00 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 3:

because you're trying to meet up with these people. It's not that you're just like, hey, I really like your posts. Is DMing another girl, if you're in a relationship, a committed relationship, is it cheating? We got two different viewpoints right now that you're going to hear from on the show. One is Shannon, who says absolutely it's cheating. And I would think a majority of people would think that. Kev, on the other hand, says no, it's not. You don't think it's cheating?

02:35:27 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I think context matters. In the context of this conversation, I think obviously it's wrong. But I think if we look at it, intent matters. I think you can't have platonic relationships. I think you can't find people on social media. You can't find people who you just like either their content or whatever it is that they're putting out there. And you can drum up relationships based on that. Whether it's, I don't know, the latest song or people like sports or games. You can have.

02:35:53 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 3:

But doesn't it lend itself, though, to something bad happening? Like, doesn't it lend, doesn't it make it seem like if somebody is going back and forth and DMing a girl that is not their girlfriend, like, why do you, why do you need to do that?

02:36:07 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 5:

So that's, that's the conversation of, can you not have friends of the opposite sex?

02:36:11 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 2:

But I'm not, and when I say it's cheating, I'm not saying you can't ever DM, you, you know, I can't ever DM another guy because I'm married. But when, like Mojo just said, when you're, when you start a conversation and you're going back and forth, back and forth all the time, I think that then that's when, like, the crack happens and a relationship starts to form, whether you want it to be that way or not. I just think it's a really, really slippery slope.

02:36:38 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 5:

You can just never have conversations with people of the opposite. That's not what I said. I didn't even finish my sentence. You can never have conversations with people of the opposite sex that go on for a while. Because the longer it goes, that's when the crack happens. So I can only talk to you for three times.

02:36:53 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

I just think if it's a random person that you don't know that you're DMing, I don't think that's great.

02:37:00 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, like, how many random people follow you, and if they slide up on your story and they make a good comment or whatever the case may be, you say something back, they say, what if it's like, it's just a good conversation?

02:37:09 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but then it's over. Like, I may respond, and then that's, you know, that's really it. I'm not engaging every day in a conversation with that person and going back to that conversation. Well, I mean, every day is a difference. You know? I mean, like you said, yes, context is definitely a part of it. Intent is definitely a part of it. But if this guy's out there, like, constantly in random girls DMs, yeah, that's absolutely cheating.

02:37:33 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, that shapes a different story. But if it's just the conversation of can you DM other people when you're in a relationship, as long as it's platonic and it's friendly, I don't see a problem with that. Crack is whack.

02:37:48 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 3:

Wayne, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts on this one?

02:37:51 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 4:

i'm 100 against what kevin's saying he knows he's wrong what he's saying if you're in a relationship or marriage or any kind of relationship with another person male or female dm and another person it's 100 cheating because the opposite sex obviously are attracted to each that's why they're liking their photos on their photos how's that obvious i i know women who think

02:38:16 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 5:

lebron james is better than jordan i'm dead listen come on kevin we can agree to disagree all I'm saying is it doesn't have to be sexual every time you DM somebody of the opposite sex. It doesn't always mean to you.

02:38:28 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 4:

If you're in a committed relationship, would you want your girl talking to other men no matter what it is? Come on, bro. It depends on what it is.

02:38:35 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 2:

That could get kind of flirty. Y'all are insane right now. I do think it's a really slippery slope.

02:38:42 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 5:

So y'all could not have friends of the opposite sex.

02:38:44 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 3:

That's what y'all said.

02:38:45 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say that.

02:38:45 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Amanda, what do you think?

02:38:47 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 1:

i think obviously like kev said sorry that it's context intent all that but the biggest part is it comes down to the boundaries of your relationship some people are okay with things that other people wouldn't be okay with yeah and if you as a couple decide like you're allowed to have female friends or you're not allowed to have female friends or whatever like some people think going to a strip club is cheating some people don't it all comes down to the boundaries of

02:39:17 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 3:

your relationship yeah and that's a good way to put it and you think that there are ways to be able to do this without it going bad right as long as you're willing like like if you're not willing to talk to your significant other about who you're dming yes like the idea of alexis not knowing that he's dming with other girls what do you mean knowing is he supposed like tell her hey today i dm'd with user three four no but i think he should say uh you know in general conversation hey yeah i got this friend on instagram why why would that ever come up because

02:39:53 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

it's a continuing conversation with a with a random person so you're telling me you and west sit out

02:40:00 - 02:40:06 | Speaker 3:

dinner and say you know he's dm somebody it's so super platonic he should just voluntarily come

02:40:06 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 2:

out of nowhere and say oh by the way well if it i think sometimes if it doesn't come up in conversation i think that there's there's more reason to believe that it's not good like if if shannon has a d is dming with a male listener and she goes yeah there's this guy that dm me today and you know and if west gets jealous over there's this guy dming you she's just basically opening up saying hey i'm telling you about the guy i wouldn't tell you about him if it wasn't the case this guy uh alexis's guy is definitely when it's shrouded in secrecy and darkness it's cheating and i think there is something wrong if the uh significant other has a problem with you even just talking to people of the opposite sex i think that that's just controlling

02:40:46 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 4:

what's up jeff hi hey how you guys doing good morning everybody i need a perspective from a guy that sounds like jeff what's going on no just working man but uh kev you're spot on man men and women can have a conversation without it being about sex or even going towards that not this guy it's all about no no no no that dude's a crush no no she was she was pointing to kevin i'm just kidding but no it's all about like you know the contrast and the way it goes And if my woman was talking to a guy, you know, it's not a big deal. I'm confident in myself. I'm not another man taking my woman. But I'm confident if the conversation started going that way, then she would end the conversation.

02:41:34 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

She would stop it, yeah. Yeah, you got to know what's appropriate and not appropriate. Yeah, and obviously the conversation that Bianca had with him was way down the inappropriate. I mean, he called her, what, honey or something, like right from the moment that she said hi.

02:41:49 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 6:

He's making plans to hang out.

02:41:50 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie, what's up?

02:41:53 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I do think Kevin is spot on because it really depends on the context. My fiance, he has a lot of women he's talked to, and it's based on, like, his hobbies. He's a cyclist. He plays music. I mean, I think it really depends.

02:42:09 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Women are attracted to those hobbies, Stephanie.

02:42:13 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, absolutely.

02:42:14 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 2:

But I'm saying not attracted to the hobbies, attracted to the guys doing those hobbies.

02:42:17 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 1:

So is he constantly, like, having, are these people you know or people you don't know?

02:42:23 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 6:

I eventually know them. I mean, I cycle as well. Okay. So, I mean.

02:42:27 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 2:

So why aren't you brought in on the conversations? Why doesn't he say, let me include Stephanie. She's my girlfriend.

02:42:33 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 3:

Every time I got to bring it. So I can't live my life. My whole life is the person I'm in a relationship with.

02:42:39 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 6:

I had my boundaries with him. So, you know, like, we had boundaries. And again, it's based on, you know, your trust in your relationship and having those conversations.

02:42:48 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that there are obviously, we all know, there's a happy medium. We all agree that there's got to be a line that's in here. But we also agree that this is a time when I think things can get shady. You know what I mean? Like, I think that temptation is always out there. You know what I mean? Like, if you're around ice cream and you don't, you know, want it.

02:43:09 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 1:

Even if you're not hungry for ice cream. You're around it all the time.

02:43:11 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 2:

you will want it eventually you'll want it and you got to be able to push it away that's where

02:43:15 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 3:

the discipline comes in but you just you you ice cream is in the world you're not gonna i get it

02:43:20 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 2:

you're not gonna go anywhere where ice cream is just bad i get it yeah but i but i think you got to be open about the fact you got to tell you no but you got to tell your your friends hey i was around ice cream today if all of a sudden you're hiding that you're going to get ice cream hey real quick deborah says she is so irritated listening to this conversation why deborah

02:43:39 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 5:

oh my gosh guys um kevin yes deborah uh dude you are still off base and i can understand why you have not been in a very long relationship and you're not married when people say that keep going again um i'm sorry but again you're talking to a whole bunch of other women Why is that woman that you're with not enough? And that's basically what you're saying. It's okay. It doesn't make sense to me.

02:44:14 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

So you're saying if I'm in a relationship, that should be the only woman I talk to?

02:44:19 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm saying that on T, that is the program is about saying things about guys that are not kind because they're working against being in a relationship. Again, you're DMing all these women. And Kevin, can you honestly answer this? Are you DMing them just to talk to them as friends?

02:44:46 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm not DMing all these women. What do you mean? I'm not in a relationship right now.

02:44:50 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

But I think she's saying that you say this. When you DM. No problem. Debra, you had a good point, and then all of a sudden I think you fizzled.

02:45:00 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 4:

I think what you were saying is, why do you need to be DMing other women when you are in a relationship with a woman? Is she not enough for you? And I think that Kevin, you have to understand, is not DMing a bunch of women when he's in a relationship. I think he's saying, though, that he has no problem DMing other women because he knows that he's going to be faithful to his girl.

02:45:19 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 5:

And when you have these DM conversations, they're not going on for years and years and years. It may be a message here. If somebody slides up on your story or if you comment on a post that they made, that's DMing somebody. It's not necessarily like you're developing and cultivating and building a relationship to hopefully go towards something. It's no different than you seeing somebody in a Starbucks line and you making a quick conversation. It's like the same type of thing.

02:45:44 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 4:

Listen, we all agree on that one. And honestly, we all feel for Alexis.

02:46:37 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 4:

Last Dirty of the morning. Shannon's got it for you right now. What's going on, Shannon?

02:46:40 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm still laughing over the video of Canadian, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the crowd at Katy Perry's Lifetimes Tour show in Montreal last night. Just two days after they went on a little, actually just a day after they went on a dinner date and a walk and drinks on the terrace. But he was living his best life at the Lifetimes Tour. Just singing. Look at him. He knows all the words. Are they friends? Is there something more that is just starting? I think he was with his son and his daughter that are standing next to him right there, but they look just like him. That's how you and Smith are going to be. We're going to be at Katy Perry on Sunday. Yep, if anybody else is. Yeah. Wow. I got to get my parking.

02:47:25 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 4:

What is Smith's favorite Katy Perry?

02:47:28 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Dark Horse.

02:47:29 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 4:

He loves Dark Horse.

02:47:30 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 2:

This child. Wait till you see his outfit.

02:47:33 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 4:

Man.

02:47:34 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 2:

We're going crazy.

02:47:35 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 4:

The video you sent in our group chat yesterday was great. When it was raining and Smith is out in the rain showering.

02:47:41 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 2:

He goes, I said, Smith, you got to go take a shower. And he goes, can I just please shower in the rain? I go, go upstairs, get a bar of soap. He did.

02:47:46 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 5:

Shout out to you for doing that. He did. He lived in his best life.

02:47:51 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Shannon Sharp not returning to ESPN's first take. Really no surprise here. We kind of figured this was going to be the case. So the network officially parting ways with the former Broncos tight end just two weeks after he settled a $50 million sexual assault lawsuit brought by a former girlfriend who accused him of raping her multiple times. She also accused him of being controlling and abusive. Has hosted First Take since I believe 2023. Also hosts the Club Shea Shea and Nightcap podcasts as well. But here he is yesterday making a statement about this.

02:48:25 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure everybody's heard the news by now that I will not be returning to ESPN. And I found out this information a little earlier in the week. And really, the only thing that I really ask is, like, guys, could we wait until Monday? My brother's going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I really want it to be about him, and I want it to be about my family. I know this would, I said, this coming out will overshadow everything that he's worked his entire life for. And unfortunately, you know, it didn't happen that way.

02:48:52 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 2:

Important to note here, by the way, he has denied all of the allegations from the beginning. And he said that this relationship and everything about it was 100% consensual.

02:49:01 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 4:

Who's going in in the Hall of Fame this week besides him? Is this the one that Anthony Gates is going in?

02:49:09 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 5:

Antonio Gates.

02:49:10 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 4:

Antonio Gates, I mean?

02:49:11 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I don't know.

02:49:13 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Shout out to the home song. It would be perfect because he played for the Chargers, isn't it? The Chargers versus the Lions in the game.

02:49:22 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 5:

I see you putting things together.

02:49:23 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 4:

I was kind of putting it together. But I know, it's funny, I know exactly who's going into the Radio Hall of Fame. Oh, who could that be? I only know one person. Colin Cowherd is going into the Radio Hall of Fame.

02:49:37 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 5:

You're right. Antonio Gates is going to the Hall of Fame.

02:49:39 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. Who else is on the list?

02:49:40 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 5:

Eric Allen.

02:49:42 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:49:42 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 5:

Jared Allen. Okay. Who was from the Vikings. He was called. And then Shannon Sharp's brother, Sterling Sharp.

02:49:47 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what? When you know you're old is when you start realizing that you watched a lot of the players in the Hall of Fame most of their career and stuff. Like that and when the referees are younger than you.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 2:

Or the managers of teams or coaches of teams and stuff like that?

02:50:03 - 02:50:12 | Speaker 3:

Or it's like LeBron, where not only is your son playing with you, but you're facing juniors. Yeah. Like, you played against their fathers, and now you're playing against them? Yeah. Jordan never had that.

02:50:13 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 1:

Wicked star Cynthia Erivo's mouth was just insured for $2 million. It's all part of a new ad campaign for Listerine.

02:50:24 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 3:

That's a throat goat if I've ever seen one.

02:50:26 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 1:

it's in the way i move the way i breathe the way i wash my mouth yeah and adult summer camps are becoming a thing they're actually booming right now as more adults seek ways to disconnect and recharge at these camps this would be so fun you guys offer all sorts of nostalgic appearance uh experiences excuse me like campfires arts and crafts, canoeing, dodgeball, tailored for grownups with perks like yoga, happy hours, themed events. It would be so much freaking fun. Adult campers, by the way, report better mental health, deeper social connections, and a refreshing break from their screens and emails. Costs usually upwards of like 500 to a thousand bucks per weekend. Would you do it for a couple of days?

02:51:18 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 2:

We are in September. We're going to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Vegas is my favorite adult camp that I like to take part in. Going to be hanging out there. We'll be doing the middle of the night drinking. It's going to be fun.

02:51:31 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 1:

For everything you missed today, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:51:35 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning Show. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. But Kev wants to know, can you date someone who is getting divorced?

02:51:55 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a friend of mine texted me and let me know that a mutual friend has announced that she is recently divorced from her partner. This is somebody I find completely attractive, somebody I've had a crush on for a while. But I don't know if it's like the right time or what is the right time to pursue that person.

02:52:11 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 2:

So this is just recent. Like how recent is recent? Like yesterday.

02:52:16 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 3:

i don't know when the divorce was finalized but that's when i found out so can you date or do i

02:52:25 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 2:

mean that's the other one like do you want to be the the the jump off or i mean i feel like honestly

02:52:30 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 3:

if we really get down to it this is like one of the ones that got away really like this is like yeah this is somebody how long was she married i don't know more more than a nickel i'll say

02:52:39 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 2:

probably more than five years maybe how how long do you think somebody should have a waiting period after they've gotten a divorce because sometimes the divorce when it starts the process started a long more you know long time before that you know and then to your point i wouldn't i don't see this

02:52:56 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 3:

person is just a jump up like i don't see this person is like fly by night i'm the person you getting over your ex with like this somebody you want you could see yeah and to your point about what's that timeline like yeah i don't know her timeline or if she's even in the space right now for me to approach her in that way. And I don't want to fake it by saying, like, I'm just caring about you as a friend. That's not what I want.

02:53:19 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 2:

How soon after your divorce became public, Shannon, or that you were getting a divorce, were you getting phone calls from guys?

02:53:26 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 1:

You ask me this all the time. I really wasn't. Really?

02:53:29 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:53:29 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 1:

Aside from you, I was not at all. Aside from you trying to set me up.

02:53:33 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 2:

But you had people, though, that would be, like, more, don't you think that they were sniffing the dog a little bit?

02:53:39 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 1:

you know i mean maybe but and i'm one of them that it took me a really long time to be in any sort of headspace or heart space to want to date and quite honestly i think i started dating west too soon and he he knows this like i there was still really a lot of that of healing that i think i needed to do when we first started dating and and that's what i will say to you kev i feel like you need to be if you want this to be a really good thing for you like if you see potential in this relationship just like give her some time because it's different for everybody though i

02:54:14 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 2:

know people who like jumped right in afterwards and but here's the thing though i know guys are dogs and guys will but kev's not a dog the moment time he's not you're not i i mean you are not at all thank you uh there are guys that when they find out that somebody's even just going through a bad marriage will jump on that right as fast as they possibly can they're they're

02:54:40 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 1:

on that bone as fast as possible if she is if she's not if her divorce isn't even finalized and she's still going through it there's a that is a lot of up and down i think it's finalized based

02:54:49 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

on the way i received the text messages i believe is finalized but finalized divorce or finalized that they're getting a divorce not that they divorced okay like that's safer to me than she's

02:54:59 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

going through.

02:55:00 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 4:

a divorce right now but there i feel like is is there do i look bad if i immediately reach out

02:55:05 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 5:

uh well if it's already if it's already finalized again i don't think you look bad no it's a long process to get a divorce finalized so it's been going on for a while jen what do you think

02:55:14 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 1:

i think that if kevin if this is really the one that got away you should at least reach out to her and start like talking to her and see where she's at mentally because like you guys said this could have started six years ago, five years ago, she wanted a divorce. Who knows? So why don't just make the first move and start talking to her?

02:55:34 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I agree with you. I think maybe just call and talk and say, hey, just want to check in on you and see how you're doing, and then hope that maybe she says, you know what, we should just go out for drinks or something, and then you let it be up to her to do it, you know?

02:55:50 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 4:

Be up to her?

02:55:51 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, be up to her when she's ready to do it, you know? Like, if she's interested, she's going to be, let's go out and get drinks. What's up, April?

02:56:01 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I was just calling. Kevin, if you really feel like this could potentially be the one, I don't know if you know the circumstances fully, but if she is the one that filed for divorce, a lot of women, you have to, like, it takes a while for you to get to the point where you actually can file. So she was probably done a long time ago with this marriage. um, I actually just got married to my, like the one that I always thought about. And I was always like, what if, um, I was going through a divorce and he found out and reached out to me and now

02:56:36 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 4:

we're married. Wow. That's interesting. When he reached out to you, what did he say?

02:56:42 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 3:

He was basically just, we were talking and stuff. He just basically said like, Hey, how's it going? And then we just started talking and then started hanging out. Um, and then we didn't officially like start dating and stuff until my divorce was finalized but my ex-husband was he was taken forever too to sign papers and stuff um so it was a really long process and stuff but yeah if she if she's the one that filed she probably has been ready to like cut those ties for a very long time and just i feel as women we we have to know that we are physically mentally everything ready to put that past us so we're like done with the relationship I mean I was done with my marriage and stuff for easily three to four years before I filed and then last question

02:57:30 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 4:

for me when that guy reached out to you did he reach out did you feel more so in a friendly way like just trying to catch up or could you tell he wanted something beyond friendship

02:57:40 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 3:

it um i think that's hard to say i can't really tell i feel like um in my head because he was always the one that like got away and i was always thinking like what if you know so i think my head probably just went to well like maybe he is being flirty and stuff but then you know we did like i said we did take our time and stuff um it wasn't like right off the rip where we started actually

02:58:08 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 5:

like officially dating and stuff so what about this texter 313 says nah let her date a bit first

02:58:16 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 4:

kev which i think is interesting yeah so that she doesn't sees what's out there and realizes it's

02:58:22 - 02:58:31 | Speaker 5:

you what is she like when she date jennifer what do you think um i'm actually divorced and i would

02:58:31 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 2:

not want anyone to call me right away if they heard that i was divorced um i would want them to send me some flowers or send me something to let me know that they're interested because I look at it like it's a jump off.

02:58:42 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, let me get that address. I meant hard like that was a great idea. That's what I meant.

02:58:47 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay, okay.

02:59:21 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 6:

Dick I was not cheating I was not cheating we were mutually separated we knew that we wanted a divorce We had not gotten a divorce yet, but I met my current wife, who I actually have two beautiful girls with, while I was getting a divorce. It's crazy how things work, man.

02:59:49 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 5:

It is. Well, this one's a crazy one, too, because this is one that Kevin thought got away from him, and it didn't.

02:59:55 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy.

02:59:56 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

He put that, cast that fish.

03:00:00 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 8:

rod into the uh the old uh lake there and look what he got what's up kayla wants to comment on kevin i like this call go ahead kayla give it to me hi good morning i'm sorry kevin weren't you

03:00:12 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 5:

just talking about another woman a few weeks ago and how you weren't ready for a relationship this is different we always different no the difference is is you didn't want one with her

03:00:23 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 7:

and you didn't tell her that there's a there's an exception about this girl there's an exception

03:00:28 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 5:

for every rule yeah did you know that this girl was available the way that men yeah the way that

03:00:33 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 7:

men's brains work i will never understand no look honestly for to be honest a piece of what you're saying is right you're absolutely right i just didn't want with her yeah well i i totally get

03:00:43 - 03:00:47 | Speaker 5:

that i just wish like men would be more upfront about that just say you don't want to be with me

03:00:47 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 8:

just say it hold on hold on saying it's not that simple christian what do you think of what kayla

03:00:52 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 4:

saying here i mean uh if it's the one that got away it's a different different point you know if you're not ready for a relationship with someone that you just met all right cool but if it's the one that got away man you and lose and lose or win and win for a lifetime you got a kid you know don't let it get away twice you don't want to do that right exactly i met my wife after Me and my ex-fiance split up, and we got together really fast, but we're going on almost 10 years. Good for you.

03:01:24 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 8:

That's awesome.

03:01:24 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 4:

If you don't shoot, you miss.

03:01:27 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 8:

That's right. What is it Michael Jordan always said? You miss 100% of the shots that you don't shoot.

03:01:35 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 7:

He shot a lot.

03:01:37 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 8:

Michael Jordan said it, not Wayne Gretzky. Or maybe Wayne Gretzky said it, too, and he stole it from Michael Jordan. Mojo.

03:01:44 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 4:

Mojo.

03:01:45 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 8:

It's the nicest four-letter word you'll say today. This is Mojo in the Morning.

The United States is about to mark its 250th anniversary.

03:02:40 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 1:

And so on the Global Story podcast from the BBC, we're telling surprising tales of American influence on the world stage and in ordinary people's lives all across the globe.

03:02:50 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 6:

We have this ability to export our story and a lot of people have bought it.

03:02:55 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 3:

I feel like the American dream is alive, but not well. From the BBC, it's the United States at 250.

03:03:01 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 1:

Listen wherever you get your podcasts or find us on YouTube.

03:03:05 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 8:

All righty-dee, it's Mojo in the Morning. I want you guys to know that I am typically not a very lazy person. I think that I actually am really lazy. But I want to actually call out all my lazy people and ask you guys, what's the laziest thing that you have ever done? Because yesterday I committed the laziest crime of my life. The crime of laziness hit a record high yesterday. in Commerce Township, Michigan, and that laziness was yesterday I circled the Planet Fitness parking lot off of Union Lake Road at least 25 times to find a spot within four spots to the front.

03:03:55 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You could have been done with your workout.

03:03:58 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 8:

I actually could have, instead of doing a workout, just parked at the back of the parking lot there. For some reason, I don't know what was going on, but the parking lot was jammed yesterday, and then you walk in sometimes to the Planet Fitness, and there's not as many people there. You're like, where is everybody? I almost wonder if people just park their cars there.

03:04:15 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 2:

Do their work to get away from their kids.

03:04:17 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 8:

Or just leave it at, maybe that's like a, you ever see those places? I saw it yesterday also. I was in Ann Arbor for a little bit. Right off of 23, they have the rideshare parking area where people supposedly park. And then, what is that, by the way?

03:04:32 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 4:

There's one on 75 and Adams too. Well, it's for people who carpool.

03:04:37 - 03:04:50 | Speaker 8:

Where are they carpooling? That they have a full parking lot there. Like, where are they going? That they're all going somewhere in the same place. You know what I'm talking about? I don't know. Like, I think it's, to me, it just seems shady to me.

03:04:50 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 3:

I've always thought that was weird. Like, when I want to leave here, I want to leave. Right. I don't want to wait for anybody else. That's like a shuttle. Yeah.

03:04:56 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 8:

Carpool, yeah. So, okay, so I, I, I get.

03:05:00 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 5:

digress my laziness here um what is the laziest thing that you guys would ever say that you have done like something that is so lazy because to me going to work out at the gym and doing the move of i will not go in until i find the best parking spot i feel like a lot of my lazy stuff happens

03:05:21 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 1:

when i'm on the couch like if i can't find a remote i'll just watch what i'm watching Even if I don't like it, like, look, bro, I don't got time. Or the remote will be literally like I can stand up. It's underneath. And I'd be like, Josiah.

03:05:33 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 2:

Did you ever have you heard that I downloaded the remote on your phone? Oh, yeah. I do that all the time. My new thing lately is I just don't feel like loading and unloading the dishwasher. So we have been using paper plates and paper bowls for everything. That's amazing. That's real. And I keep making a joke about it, like, ooh, fancy dinner tonight. But I, you guys, it is glorious to have no cleanup.

03:05:58 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 5:

Try this one, Shannon. Try to use the same dishes every single week. Chelsea and I have been doing this when Luke was at school and we were the only ones home. We would use, like, the same plates, same amount of plates, same amount of cups, same amount of everything. Wash them and then grab the clean ones out of the dishwasher. put them into an area of the secondary sink that we have there like rinsed off and then when the entire dishwasher is finally empty that's when we know we have to refill even that's too much work

03:06:29 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 2:

i'm telling you paper paper i know it's kind of wasteful but yeah i actually saw the other day

03:06:34 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 5:

the coolest uh uh plastic plates they were the plastic plates that looked like those paper plates you know what i'm talking about yeah you know the the white paper plates that are like the flimsiest of them all but i saw uh where were we we were at some place like a restaurant or something like that and they had it and i said chelsea go oh my god i want these like that that's what i want that's what i wanted for my anniversary gift i'll go grocery shopping till josiah come

03:07:01 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 1:

over i'll just thug it out i'll go to kroger and just get some chicken breast and i'll eat that

03:07:05 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 5:

all week the whole week come over so the other uh parking lot thing that i do and this is a big one is at 12 where who's all talking that i can't they're loud you can hear them through the studio yeah they're excited what is going on up there is there something big going on i mean we got by the way did a great job building these buildings this studio here haven't we sound really soundproof isn't it um the other parking lot job is at the mall there so the mall by us uh is 12 oaks and if i have to go get something or i want to go get something and i usually want to park by Nordstrom's and go into Nordstrom's, if I pull up and then the area on the side of Nordstrom's is so packed, I will go all the way home. I will drive 20 minutes is pretty much, you know, it takes me to get from my house to the mall. And I, instead of going to a totally different area and pulling up, I just go, eh, screw it. I'm going home today. So I drove the entire way for not. What's up, Preston? What's your laziest thing that you've ever done?

03:08:04 - 03:08:32 | Speaker 3:

uh it's not me but i used to work at a gym and i would watch people that had drinking problems they'd come to the gym put their phone in the locker so their wives wouldn't know if they track their phone they think they're at the gym for a few hours and then they just come back from the bar and get their phone and leave that is amazing this was an everyday thing for some people or if they were cheating as well if their wife was tracking their phone they'd make sure they had it in the locker for a few hours so it looked like they were working out buddy how do

03:08:32 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 5:

you know how do you know that they were cheating would you see them leave with another woman

03:08:36 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 3:

or god oh yeah well no they would come in and tell us about it you know they would they would be like because we were like why are you never working out we'd see him come in and put the stuff in the locker and then he'd just leave and he was like oh i do that my wife tracks my phone

03:08:48 - 03:08:54 | Speaker 5:

that is crazy wow those are really amazing kaz what's up it's mojo in the morning what's the

03:08:54 - 03:09:19 | Speaker 4:

laziest thing that you've ever done hey i got you all beat i got a doggy door so you don't have to take the dogs out honestly i would love that the dog can the dog can go outside and bark his full head off and he comes in the house happy as hell i would love a doggy door that is actually amazing guys it's not cool when it's snowy or rainy but oh yeah how do you get you get the muddy

03:09:19 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 5:

how do you get the dog to understand the dog that it has to use the doggy door you just train them

03:09:24 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 4:

you just kind of push his butt through it and then he's happy as hell wow that's crazy

03:09:29 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 1:

He probably used his foot, too, in what you saw.

03:09:34 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 5:

Michael, tell us your laziness, Michael.

03:09:38 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 4:

So I'm just like you. I drive around the parking lot looking for parking spots. Until I got sick of it, and I faked an injury. I went to the doctor, and I got a handicap sticker. Oh, Michael.

03:09:49 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I don't love that. I don't love that one. But you know what?

03:09:52 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 5:

We don't love it, but we want to use it. We're not condoning what you're doing, But can you tell me?

03:10:00 - 03:10:07 | Speaker 1:

the name of the doctor um voice disguise b on the phone with us what's up b what's the laziest

03:10:07 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 4:

thing that you've done so in the middle of the night and say that again your phone kind of cut out i can't understand with the voice guys i said um i was too lazy to get out the bed in the middle So the night, he's in the bathroom, so I went right there in the bed. Oh, my God. Okay, that's one I'm not doing.

03:10:31 - 03:10:36 | Speaker 1:

You peed the bed? No. Because you were just too lazy to get up and go?

03:10:37 - 03:10:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was too tired, yeah.

03:10:39 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 1:

Were you drunk?

03:10:42 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Sort of. Not really.

03:10:44 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a partner? Do you have, like, a guy? No? No. No. So you're by yourself doing this?

03:10:51 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. At one point. It was a while ago. It wasn't like recently.

03:10:55 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

03:10:56 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 4:

That doesn't make it better.

03:10:57 - 03:11:09 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. You're still an adult. I see why your voice is, guys, because you know all your friends are going to go, that's nasty. Right. Thank you for the call. Darla, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

03:11:10 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hi. First time to call a long time. Hey, Darla. It's on the phone.

03:11:15 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 1:

What's happening?

03:11:17 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. I was just commenting that I heard you were mentioning that parking. Why would you ride for parking, which I wouldn't ride and drive, but I do know that where I work at, I don't want to name where I work at, but we literally have a ride share program that you get paid $150, $200 a month back for your ride share. Wow. It's worth it. So of course you're going to do that. So is that the reason?

03:11:39 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so maybe University of Michigan or something like that, or Michigan Medicine, maybe they have it because I saw that in Ann Arbor. I'm like, what is this ride share thing?

03:11:47 - 03:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I guess they do. Usually the big companies kind of do have that.

03:11:50 - 03:11:58 | Speaker 1:

So how do they know that you're sharing, how do they know you're sharing, uh, rides with each other?

03:11:58 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 3:

You have to give your receipt six months.

03:12:00 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right.

03:12:01 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 3:

And it's like Michigan. Have you heard of Michigan? That's what they do.

03:12:05 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Can I tell you something though? I would get annoyed by the, by like I have a, I hate when we just have to do one ride to Grand Rapids or Toledo from Detroit and everybody's in the car together, you know, bitching and moaning about how the air is and what the sounds are like who bitching and moaning you no it's him you're talking about bro i drive look in a mirror you know what

03:12:30 - 03:12:36 | Speaker 3:

can we just get there why did you have to run not run this red light you know do you know how much

03:12:36 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 1:

of a pain in the ass it is to listen to kevin's music it's like the most vile stuff i've ever

03:12:41 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 3:

heard in my life it's better than stevie b in the game airplane this where they say can you we just have the airplane rule you have to use the headphones please that's it everybody's everybody's

03:12:50 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 1:

you know it's like we lydia will go we should do this it's a great bonding moment yeah you know what the bonding is us yelling at each other during the ride what's up rachel good morning guys

03:13:02 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 2:

good morning it's not about my laziness it's my grown 21 year old son he brushes his teeth in the shower and he leaves the toothbrush sit on the ledge. I always tell, like, that is so lazy and disgusting. I'm like, don't you know everybody's stuff is flinging everywhere? He's like, well, it's clean, ain't it? I know a lot of

03:13:24 - 03:13:26 | Speaker 1:

people who do that. I know. I think it's gross,

03:13:26 - 03:13:30 | Speaker 5:

though. I do not do that, but I do know a lot of people who do that, yeah. I waterpick

03:13:30 - 03:13:32 | Speaker 1:

in the shower. Okay, so I've

03:13:33 - 03:13:40 | Speaker 5:

used my waterpick, guess how many times? One. And I brought it in the shower because I thought I would use it more. I do it all the time in the shower. But I still don't use it.

03:13:40 - 03:13:56 | Speaker 1:

But I only do it, the water pick thing in the shower, because it reminds me that I'm going to do it. Otherwise, I won't. And I also used to get the water all over the kitchen or the bathroom counter. So, all right, Rachel, thank you for the call. I appreciated it.

03:13:56 - 03:13:59 | Speaker 4:

Water pick is lazy, too. No. Floss.

03:13:59 - 03:14:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I floss, too.

03:14:01 - 03:14:01 | Speaker 4:

No, it's way better for you.

03:14:01 - 03:14:02 | Speaker 1:

But I floss also.

03:14:02 - 03:14:03 | Speaker 5:

I never do.

03:14:03 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 1:

I floss, then brush my teeth, then go shower and water pick.

03:14:08 - 03:14:09 | Unknown:

You're doing too much.

03:14:09 - 03:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Look at these pearly whites. Thank you, Reynolds Orthodontics. I can't argue with that. Dr. Reynolds. Yep.

03:14:15 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 4:

Rain, you suck. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

03:14:21 - 03:15:29 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's top trending stories. All right, top trending stories of the day. Some stories that we didn't cover in the Dirty or just kind of stories that kind of interest me. I usually pull out and go, hey, look at this one. Did you see it? um this story interests me because we were talking about las vegas and the iheart radio music festival but um a story that kind of surprises me because i always thought that vegas was like hot as hell right now where people are going there and traveling and doing all kinds of stuff i know that that backstreet boys sphere show is big it seems like any show that's at the sphere or something like that.

03:15:00 - 03:15:23 | Speaker 4:

seems to do great uh vegas i guess is dying i guess some people have been in and if you go vegas is dying on tiktok you'll see a bunch of tiktokers that are showing streets of vegas dead like at night on fridays saturdays nights what's the reason um well you know what it is i got it for you right here from this abc report money people don't uh have the money to be able

03:15:23 - 03:16:14 | Speaker 2:

to spend on Vegas. With August arriving tomorrow, it's clear Americans this summer are cashing out of some of the most popular summer hot spots. Las Vegas especially hit hard with visitors down 11% from last year. One factor, sky high prices. Prices are too high. Almost everything in Las Vegas seems overpriced. A simple dinner of cheeseburger and fries at one restaurant on trip was $16.95 four years ago, and now it's $30.95. But perhaps the biggest factor behind the summer slowdown? Fewer international visitors, including Canadians, down 13% this year. I've definitely heard of thousands of layoffs with dealers and just casino workers. Some workers relying on tips say their income has dropped by more than half. Ted Papa George leads the local Culinary Workers Union.

03:16:14 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, our members are quite concerned right now. The companies are holding off on hiring.

03:16:20 - 03:16:54 | Speaker 2:

Across the country, Cape Cod and other parts of New England also seeing a drop in crowds. Cape Cod vacation rentals are down 20 percent this season. Many Canadians say they canceled their trips after President Trump's tariffs and rhetoric this year when he referred to Canada as the 51st state. We took it very, very seriously. This Canadian tourist, not traveling to the U.S. this summer, explained her mindset to PBS, saying Canadians want to be heard. We don't have a lot of tools. And, well, tourism is one of the tools that we have.

03:16:54 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. Well, it's interesting, though, that Vegas still hasn't changed some of the prices. With people not going there, why are they charging, you know, $30 for a burger?

03:17:07 - 03:17:07 | Speaker 1:

Insanity.

03:17:07 - 03:17:14 | Speaker 4:

You guys will see this when you go to the iHeart Festival, because the last time you were in Vegas was probably the last iHeart Festival that you were at, right?

03:17:14 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 1:

Which was a while ago. I haven't been since 2021.

03:17:17 - 03:17:24 | Speaker 4:

2021, yeah. 2021. So I was there last year, and I felt like you can't afford to gamble at all.

03:17:24 - 03:17:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, I knew that when I was there.

03:17:26 - 03:17:40 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy to see how the prices of the tables are crazy high, even if you go downtown, which has always been stereotypically the cheap place to go to when you'd go down to the Vegas Strip.

03:17:41 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 3:

It sucks, man.

03:17:42 - 03:17:45 | Speaker 4:

Are we going to gamble in Vegas? What is going to happen when we're at the R-Head Festival?

03:17:45 - 03:17:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm a roulette type of player, bro. I don't do all that extra stuff. We can do craps. I don't know how to shoot craps.

03:17:50 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 1:

No, I said I would teach you. If we can find a cheapy craps table, we'll do it.

03:17:54 - 03:17:57 | Speaker 4:

You don't know how to count to 21, 21?

03:17:57 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say blackjack is cool, but I don't like, the risk is just black or red.

03:18:02 - 03:18:06 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you don't think that there's a risk of just sitting there playing craps and rolling dice?

03:18:07 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm saying the odds are more in my favor about playing roulette. Roulette, I bet on red or black. Is that the rule?

03:18:12 - 03:18:17 | Speaker 1:

I love sitting and drinking and playing video poker, too. But now they don't even bring you free drinks anymore.

03:18:17 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 4:

No.

03:18:18 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 1:

They don't do that?

03:18:19 - 03:18:19 | Speaker 4:

No, it's a bummer.

03:18:19 - 03:18:20 | Speaker 1:

Not really.

03:18:20 - 03:18:21 | Speaker 3:

What's the point?

03:18:21 - 03:19:08 | Speaker 4:

What do you guys think is the most hated food? Like, what is the one thing? That's a good guess. Shannon, what do you got? Mushrooms. No? Okay. Chitlins. People don't like mushrooms? Chitlins. Put that on the list. No, the most hated food, sardines and anchovies. um anchovies liver sardines tofu squid caviar oysters blue uh cheese blue blue cheese blue cheese that's like ranch chitlins and sushi are the top 10 most hated foods so a lot of fish stuff in there do you ever had caviar i don't like oysters have you ever tried tofu because tofu It looks like it should be rubbery.

03:19:09 - 03:19:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to order it, but I don't mind eating it.

03:19:11 - 03:19:16 | Speaker 4:

What about the idea that sushi's on this list? That's crazy. I'm kind of shocked by that one.

03:19:16 - 03:19:21 | Speaker 3:

Very shocked. There are a lot of other things in the world I would put as more terrible more than sushi is.

03:19:21 - 03:19:27 | Speaker 4:

What's that? I mean, I just told you. Onions. Onions. You don't like onions at all? Onions is terrible, bro. What about cooked onions? Do you like cooked onions?

03:19:27 - 03:19:36 | Speaker 3:

I don't like none of that. The only time I've ever liked semi-liked onions is on a White Castle burger. Other than that, no, I get them out of my face.

03:19:37 - 03:19:41 | Speaker 4:

Flocking is the latest viral dating trend.

03:19:41 - 03:19:43 | Speaker 1:

I hate all these new names.

03:19:43 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 4:

Instead of using dating apps, people are traveling to meet potential people in real life. And they're flocking, meeting them face to face. They're flying out to do this.

03:19:56 - 03:19:57 | Speaker 2:

But then what happens?

03:19:57 - 03:20:16 | Speaker 4:

They say that the chance... of you having a lasting relationship when you actually travel to go meet somebody is actually 10 times greater than those that actually will meet somebody locally because you're more apt to give another person in another state more of a chance than you would be to give a person that

03:20:16 - 03:20:26 | Speaker 6:

that's a dating trend for people who have expendable finances well because then it becomes very expensive to constantly nurture that relationship and go to see them all the time

03:20:26 - 03:20:41 | Speaker 4:

I think that it's interesting that there's a lot of people that will meet somebody on a dating site, like a dating app, and then you find out, has this ever happened to any listeners, that they don't live here. That they just put in that they wanted to look for somebody from that city.

03:20:42 - 03:20:48 | Speaker 5:

That happens with Tinder. If you have a conference or something like that, you're in the city and you're trying to hook up with somebody, you switch your location.

03:20:49 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 4:

Here's another term, sloppers. You know who sloppers are? Oh, I love a slopper. People who are sloppers are people who ask AI before doing anything. They're nicknamed sloppers, apparently in reference to AI slop and often garbling down low-effort content online where they'll ask ChatGPT something before they even will just decide on their own or figure it out on their own. It's interesting. I saw a different version of ChatGPT for students to use. it doesn't give you the answer it helps you come up with the answer it's almost like a quiz have you seen that at all so yeah it will basically kind of give you ways to learn things instead of coming right out and giving you the answer to it because so many students are doing it and then they're not remembering it it's a way to do it although there's a cheat on there the cheat is that you can go right to the end and figure out exactly what the answer is

03:21:47 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 5:

remember you saw those textbooks where all the answers are in the back He had a key.

03:21:54 - 03:22:00 | Speaker 4:

Gas station heroin is a big deal. Have you heard of gas station heroin?

03:22:00 - 03:22:03 | Speaker 6:

This is actually a huge, very dangerous problem here.

03:22:04 - 03:22:12 | Speaker 4:

Gas station heroin, the pills that you buy at a gas station are being called heroin for many because they're so easy to get and they're just as bad as taking heroin.

03:22:13 - 03:22:36 | Speaker 2:

In an effort to prevent the next opioid crisis, the FDA has announced a plan to restrict the substance that experts say is 13 times more potent than morphine. The compound, commonly referred to as 7-OH, is a synthetic concentrated byproduct of the kratom plant and can be found in tablets, gummies, drink mixes, and shots sold at gas stations and convenience stores.

03:22:36 - 03:22:45 | Speaker 3:

Scientifically, by definition, it is an opioid. and yet it is sold in vape stores and smoke shops and convenience stores and

03:22:45 - 03:23:03 | Speaker 2:

gas stations. 70H has been commonly used for pain relief and anxiety or as a stimulant. The administration is recommending classifying it as a controlled substance, saying you can become addicted to it in just days. In making the announcement, Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. spoke about his own

03:23:03 - 03:23:12 | Speaker 1:

14-year addiction to heroin. This compulsion was absolutely impervious to my will and part of the

03:23:12 - 03:23:30 | Speaker 2:

problem was just the availability. The FDA has been confronting a growing number of dangerous products lining store shelves including other unregulated supplements that have opioid-like effects sometimes called gas station heroin. Kennedy saying the wide availability of these drugs could lead to a national crisis.

03:23:31 - 03:23:43 | Speaker 1:

They're marketed for children. They're gummy bears. They're bright colors. They're candy flavored. This is really a sinister, sinister industry. Interesting.

03:23:44 - 03:23:48 | Speaker 2:

The NSA has notified health care professionals warning them about the danger of 708.

03:23:50 - 03:23:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to go get some at the BP down the street from the radio station here. Which, by the way, the BP down the street from the radio station, I don't know if you drive by it in the morning.

03:23:59 - 03:23:59 | Speaker 5:

A little swallow.

03:24:00 - 03:24:10 | Speaker 4:

Just off of, what is it, grass? No, it's big. Oh. It's lit up like a freaking Vegas casino. You ever see it? I don't drive it that way. I can see it off of 75 when I'm pulling up.

03:24:10 - 03:24:14 | Speaker 6:

Is that the one with the palm trees? Oh, it's got everything all over. That's Joy Road.

03:24:14 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 4:

It's right over here, kitty corner down here, and it's got some chicken place, I think, right next door to it. And last but not least, a Reddit post by a woman is now getting a lot of attention today. Uh, your bathroom scale helps a person figure or help the wife figure out that her husband was cheating. She discovered two mysterious weigh-ins, exactly 120 pounds logged in at 1225 AM and 1226 AM while she was away. And her husband was alone in the condo since neither her husband or she weighed that little. she did a little bit of research only to find out that the guy was bringing a girl over to bang

03:25:00 - 03:25:02 | Speaker 2:

And she was weighing herself after her.

03:25:03 - 03:25:55 | Speaker 3:

The Reddit commenters praised her attention to detail, calling it expert-level sleuthing. She is considering legal action right now, and now the husband's not getting any. That is a crazy story. My scale does not keep track. Like retain information? Right. I wonder why she was weighing herself afterwards. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? But I think anytime somebody walks by a scale, they either do one of two things. They either look at it like it's taboo or they jump on it just to see if that scale shows them to be lighter or heavier. Hey, check out the War of the Roses. You've got to go here.
