00:00:26 - 00:00:43 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:00:43 - 00:00:44 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:45 - 00:00:46 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:47 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hack. It's showtime. Let's go. Happy Friday. Oh, the Yacht Rock's coming out. It's going to be good. By the way, we are this morning celebrating the fact that it is officially football season after the great performance by the Lions third string. But we won't talk about that. But let's talk Lollapalooza, guys. Let's talk the girls at Lollapalooza.

00:01:24 - 00:01:25 | Speaker 1:

You guys look so cute yesterday.

00:01:26 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. You're welcome. Sharing a room. I saw that.

00:01:31 - 00:01:32 | Speaker 6:

It's not really, it's like a dorm.

00:01:34 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 4:

You guys are in a hotel, or where are you guys at? Did you get Airbnb?

00:01:38 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 6:

Shout out Virgin Hotels. Virgin Hotels.

00:01:42 - 00:01:42 | Speaker 4:

Fancy.

00:01:43 - 00:01:43 | Speaker 6:

Virgin.

00:01:44 - 00:01:49 | Speaker 4:

I like that. Their Chaldean dads are happy that they're at the Virgin Hotel.

00:01:49 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 6:

They had some cute doormen, too. Okay. Some cute guys to check us in, so that's a plus. Hey, let y'all in.

00:01:54 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 4:

How many people think that this is going to be another one of those trips where Monday morning they're gonna come back and lydia is gonna get uh all right i got a couple things i need to talk to bianca about is it gonna be another she's already been yelling at me i think

00:02:05 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 5:

she yelled at me like five times about what i yelled at her about our you know getting to the airport on time because she thought that you know she could just drive like a turtle on the way

00:02:14 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 6:

there it was raining okay yes but also she's like bianca we need to go to the stage right now she was like rushing me out of the room and i'm still trying to get ready and stuff because she was

00:02:26 - 00:02:31 | Speaker 5:

going to go on at 7 o'clock and we were still in the hotel room at 640 and it's a 30 minute walk. 30 minute

00:02:31 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 4:

Virgin Hotel is right down the street from Grand Park. No. Which one?

00:02:35 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you the detours that they made us take were unreal. Oh you know what

00:02:40 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 4:

do they lock down most of Michigan Avenue there so you can't? Yes.

00:02:44 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 6:

Okay. This place is not for the week. Lydia wanted to wear these high heel boots and I'm like you are

00:02:48 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 4:

going to be dead. So I was at the Lollapalooza that Ariana Grande was at which I don't know maybe it was five years ago or something like that. It was the last Lollapalooza that i went to and i it was the first year they put the fencing up and people were so upset over the fencing that they tried to crash the fence and they actually ran after the fence and they tried to knock it down and it was the funniest sight ever to see a bunch of like 18 year old

00:03:11 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 6:

kids yeah you know raging looking like idiots but yeah we weren't really that close but i think the view is still great like we didn't like a lot of people like camped out there at the stage but we kind of just like hopped around and we got great views all around um it was a really good concert

00:03:28 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 5:

though i was like crying how did we get the great views though bianca was like pushing everybody to

00:03:32 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 6:

the ground i was luke combs i was like move there were guys wearing country hats and i was like hey

00:03:38 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 4:

can you guys take your hats off and they're like no okay you know why they're bald underneath all right well that's kind of cool that i like that they had a nice uh variety i i heard what Today is what?

00:03:54 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 5:

Olivia Rodrigo and T. Payne. Okay, now we talking.

00:03:58 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 6:

Let's get into the legends today. Check out the social medias for all the videos, all the behind the scenes.

00:04:03 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Wait, when is Sabrina Carpenter?

00:04:05 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 6:

She's Sunday.

00:04:06 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 4:

Sunday. Okay, so hold on. It's incredible, Lana. Can we talk about this? Lydia talks about Bianca and the fact that Bianca shows a little bit of youth whenever she's trying to be responsible. She booked a flight to Chicago because they flew to Chicago instead of driving to Chicago, which is smart because at Virgin Hotel, I just looked it up online, it's $80 a day to valet your car. That's how expensive it is. It's definitely cheaper to fly. Well, she did not book a round trip. She booked one way.

00:04:38 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 1:

But the funniest thing is she didn't even realize it until yesterday. We're in the studio, and I heard her just under her breath go, oh, crap, I didn't book my return flight.

00:04:45 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

It's unreal. You said, you have to book your flight back.

00:04:48 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 6:

I booked my flight when I got here. So when we landed in Chicago, I booked my flight back home because my dad kept calling me and yelling at me. He's like, why don't you have your flight? And I'm like, I got it now.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Was I not yelling at you about that?

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

is also yelling at me we should have uh done the mega bus on the way back now that would have been fun we should have done a party bus how bougie how bougie is the mega bus guys that that would be fun we're all lalapalooza drunk you know how many people get on that thing they're either college students or they're drunk people looking for a place to go pass actually me and living

00:05:19 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 4:

were sober yesterday i think we're the only like sober ones there but it was great well it's it's

00:05:24 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 2:

also a thursday night too i like i mean although the uh the fact i think this is the 20th year of lalapalooza oh is it really i think so it's i think it's been 20 years i think i uh uh read uh no it started in 1985 i think 30 years no it's chicago though yeah google that one i think they were talking about that i think i don't know where lalapalooza was before this i think it moved

00:05:45 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

around for a little bit i think they have different ones around they do they have them again like brazil they have them do they sometimes um in like europe and stuff like that so it's cool i mean

00:05:54 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 2:

this is this is good it's a great festival and it's our kind of kickoff to this and then the

00:05:58 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

iheart festival it's fun to see all the outfits but there's a lot of booty cheeks i'm gonna tell

00:06:02 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

you that right now hell of cake a lot of booty cheeks out that's like the admission ticket for festivals is it would you say that it's majority uh girls versus guys or or is there a mixture

00:06:15 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 3:

No, there's a mixture. When we were in Gracie Abrams' set yesterday, there were so many men who were there to see her, too.

00:06:22 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's awesome.

00:06:23 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

But there's, like, all the guys with their girlfriends. There's no cuties. We haven't spotted any yet.

00:06:27 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

I told Bianca I was going to have a guy give me a piggyback ride today.

00:06:30 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You guys are bad. They're broadcasting live from Lollapalooza. They're actually using our iHeart Studios there, so we'll have some fun stuff to talk about this morning. We have a lot to get to, including all morning long, we are qualifying you to go to Florida. So you have chances to go to Florida all morning long on a trip that will send you and your family this winter to Florida so you can get out of the Michigan cold. All winter, we are doing this with Visit Florida, and your first chance to win comes up next.

00:07:03 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events. and you tell us what year it happened.

00:07:12 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

All right, these all happened in the same year. We're giving away tickets to see Nelly and Ja Rule, part of our throwback, throwdown series that's happening. I love it. They got their mic up. Let's hear what they're talking about. Be careful. What you're talking about. I know. What you're talking about.

00:07:25 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Be careful. Bianca's singing in here.

00:07:27 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

00:07:28 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 3:

How can you hear us? Our mics are off. This is crazy.

00:07:30 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

No, they're still there. They're still up. I better watch out. I still hear you. Fire Festival started it in this year.

00:07:36 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 1:

20-year-old kids screaming, this is fraud. Shut the fuck up. This is not fraud.

00:07:41 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, not quite Lollapalooza, a complete fraud festival. The Oscars messed up who won the Best Picture award.

00:07:49 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 1:

This is not a joke. I'm afraid they read the wrong thing. This is not a joke. Moonlight has won Best Picture.

00:07:59 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Moonlight. That was crazy. Best Picture. And country artist Sam Hunt.

00:08:04 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 1:

You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year the stuff happened. 844 Mojo Live.

00:08:11 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

You remember that one, right, Courtney? I sure do.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 1:

What year was it?

00:08:15 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

2017. Yeah, Courtney. Courtney, you got a body like a back row? You know it. Okay. Hey, Courtney, we're going to give you tickets to see Nelly and Ja Rule Pine Knob. You're going to be going next week, I think, right?

00:08:32 - 00:08:32 | Unknown:

I think it is.

00:08:32 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 2:

Coming up. Yeah. It's happening. It's murder. It's murder. August the 9th. So, August the 9th. Can you believe it's August already? I know. What the heck? What is going on? No, summer. Please don't go. We are living on the freeway. It means the last month of summer has already started. That's craziness. Crazy. Yeah. So, congratulations to you. Hang on the phone and we'll get you set up. We have, let's go here. Tickets to see Tate. No, no. Better than that. A trip to Florida. Yeah, a trip to Florida. Listen to this. Win a $50 gift card and qualify for a trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida. Florida, stay at Shepard's Beach Resort. Enjoy the sunset on the golf aboard a yacht starship sunset cruise. Dinner cruise would be awesome. See dolphins up close at Clearwater's Marine Aquarium. And enjoy dinner and drinks at Salty's Island Bar and Grill. I've been there. Actually, I was there probably at the beginning of this year when I was down there visiting Joe. It's all courtesy of Visit Florida. Honestly, there's not a bad spot in Clearwater. Clearwater Beach is amazing. So call 844-MOJO-LIVE, win the $50, and then qualify for the trip, and we'll give away the grand prize trip right after we grab, I think, five qualifiers. So good luck.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 3:

Dirty on the 30.

00:10:02 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 6:

What's up in the Dirty on the 30? Let's go to Shannon right now with that.

00:10:05 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Did we... The Lions last night. Do we want to talk about the Lions?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 6:

They play. I think people were...

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 3:

Preseason Hall of Fame game, we lost.

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:10:12 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

We lost. I think we got one touchdown, right?

00:10:15 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's it.

00:10:15 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 7:

He may be a bit of a hit in that battle. Reynolds, good cut inside. And Craig Reynolds takes it in.

00:10:21 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

One of our star players were out on the field, so...

00:10:24 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 6:

I think Reynolds was the only guy I kind of knew. You know what I mean? It was interesting. This quarterback guy is interesting that they started. The guy, I think, Kyle Allen, I think was his name. Yeah, he was back up over with Pittsburgh. I thought for sure that we would see maybe a little bit more of the younger guys that they drafted. But I didn't even see any of those guys.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Mike Tirico talking to Aiden Hutchinson.

00:10:46 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 7:

Hutch, being down there, being healthy and ready to go. How much are you salivating to get back on the field and hit somebody?

00:10:53 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 8:

Oh, man, you have no idea, man. It's been a long time without football in my life. And camp's been fun so far, but I'm just, I can't wait for that week one in Lambeau. You know, it's going to be electric, man. I've been, it's been a long, it's been a long off season, so I'm ready to jump back.

00:11:11 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 3:

We got the whisper, can't wait for week one.

00:11:14 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 8:

Salivating.

00:11:15 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 3:

And Coach Dan Campbell talking about how things are going so far this year.

00:11:19 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think just going back to work, you know, with the guys that we have, man, you don't every year man when you when you fall a little bit short of what the ultimate goal is man you don't take those things for granted you want to make sure you don't repeat that mistake and every little thing matters and so that's where we're at our guys we start over and you

00:11:39 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 1:

have a new offensive and defensive coordinator what challenges does that present well it's just

00:11:44 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

about us all working together in the communication the good news is is that i've worked with both of these guys and they're outstanding coaches it's just about now that they're in those roles Us being all on the same page, which we will work out all the kinks before the season gets here.

00:11:58 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 6:

I don't like him in the booth, though, Dan. I think that John Morton needs to be on the field, headsets on the field. But I guess he's an in-the-booth guy. And if you don't know the difference, he's calling all the plays from up top, which is very college football-y, but also they do it a lot in the pros. But Dan seems like the type of guy that needs to get his hands on a guy. Like, he needs to, like, look at memory, how he was with Ben.

00:12:21 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 5:

They have conversations. Physiology is huge, and that ability to walk over and just have a quick conversation as opposed to, hey, can you hear me? Are you in there? You lose some of that.

00:12:31 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 6:

They say that usually offensive coordinators like to be up there because they can kind of see which the field looks like, but I don't know.

00:12:40 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 3:

It's like us being in different studios and trying to do a show. That's kind of what I equate it to.

00:12:43 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 6:

Some in Malapalooza, some here.

00:12:47 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 3:

All right, another quick ditty update for you. his legal team just filed a motion seeking to overturn his convictions or be granted an entirely new trial. So again, Diddy convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under what's called the Mann Act. And his attorneys argue that this application of this law is potentially unconstitutional. Their argument, these freak offs that we heard so much about were consensual and protected under the First Amendment as private, non-commercial, amateur pornography. They also contend that the trial was influenced by prejudicial evidence unrelated to the charges, particularly when it comes to that 2016 video involving Diddy and Cassie. So they are requesting a retrial with limited evidence. Again, he is awaiting sentencing that's supposed to happen on October 3rd. Kamala Harris says America's political system is broken and that is why she is not running for California governor. That's what she told Stephen Colbert last night in her first interview since the 2024 election. She said she still wants to serve, just not from inside a system that she believes is not strong enough to stand up to threats like President Donald Trump. And she was also asked about the moment she knew she was going to have to take over the Democratic presidential campaign from former President Joe Biden. And she really skirted around that question.

00:14:15 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

Let me say something about Joe Biden. I have an incredible amount of respect for him. And I think that the way that we should be thinking about where we are right now is to remember that we had a president of the United States who believed in the rule of law. who believed in the importance of aspiring to have integrity and to do the work on behalf of the people. Come on, Shannon. Give me a Kamala story that makes me look good now. Thank you.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

And you want to hear some new music? I actually have a lot.

00:15:00 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 2:

of new music to debut for today. New Magic Friday. Metro Boomin? Oh, I didn't put that one in. I'll get that one for you, though. Demi Lovato just dropped a song called Fast. Okay. Got some new music from Chapel Roan called The Subway. Do you have the Chaperone one?

00:15:32 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 3:

No, let me get it for you. Hold on a second. Chappelle.

00:15:35 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 2:

Chappelle Rowan has new music out this morning.

00:15:38 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's hear what it sounds like here. Kev's right, by the way. It does sound kind of A-I-E, doesn't it?

00:15:43 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 4:

Just another day. It's not all the angel that's all.

00:15:50 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 2:

As I was putting this in this morning, I was just imagining Mojo going, no.

00:15:54 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 3:

No, no. I like it better than Demi Lovato's. Yeah.

00:15:59 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 2:

My favorite, Zac Brown and Snoop Dogg. Come on. Let it run. Let's see this one.

00:16:05 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 7:

It ain't like we're down to crumbs. We got more when I came from. Don't be spitting on my blunt. Just let that.

00:16:16 - 00:16:16 | Unknown:

Run.

00:16:16 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 7:

Oh, just wait.

00:16:18 - 00:16:19 | Unknown:

Pass one.

00:16:19 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 7:

Maybe tell what it do. What's up? Don't spit on my blunt. Wedge mouth crumb. Snack your son of a bitch. Wow.

00:16:28 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 2:

I had to bleep like half the song. That is great. I'm aware of this. It's called Let It Run, if you want to download that one. For all of today's Dirty, for everything you missed this week, actually, you can check out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:16:42 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 6:

Yo, what up? This is Big Snoop Dogg with Mojo in the Morning. You know how we do. We turn up the music. Church, priest, tabernacle. Go. Celebrity Dirt.

00:16:51 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 7:

Directly from the source.

00:16:55 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:16:58 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 3:

00:18:29 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 3:

Ashley. Yes. Can you say winter? Winter. All right, perfect. I know exactly what you're saying. It's almost off of that, right?

00:18:39 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 5:

It is winter. It's winter. Hello. It's winter.

00:18:43 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, not yet. Not yet. Another chance coming up before Shannon's next dirty. So stick around for that.

00:18:49 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 7:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:18:52 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 1:

00:18:57 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 3:

All right, time now for the 5 at 6.55. It got good with Allison yesterday. We'll see if she can go for her third today. Allison, your challenger this morning is Anna from Spring Lake. Hi, Anna. How you doing?

00:22:57 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

00:25:00 - 00:25:01 | Speaker 2:

One stupid show.

00:25:02 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning live.

00:25:07 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. Happy Friday. Happy Lollapalooza. So the show is in two different places, and we'll check in with Lydia and Bianca in just a second. They're in Lollapalooza land in Chicago. Shannon, Kev, myself, Zach, I'll hang out here. Hey, real quick, I just want to throw out a little plug. Kevin and Zach are both going to be tackling the areas that we broadcast from.

00:25:32 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:25:33 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 2:

We are going to be out and about this weekend with Zach having a couple of gigs. He's got one today. He is going to be at the AT&T in Chelsea, the new AT&T store in Chelsea. So Chelsea, Michigan, look out for Zach. You said Zach got two of it? He's got two. I need a new agent. Booked and busy. I see you, Zach. So then tomorrow, Zach's going to be in Toledo. So he's going to, are you going to overnight stay in Chelsea? Because it's actually not that far of a drive from Chelsea to go to Toledo. You don't have to go back to your apartment down in Detroit. He's going to be tomorrow representing all of us at KISS. And it's Ice in the Ice. The annual giveaway of giving away a diamond in the ice. And that is going to be in Hensville tomorrow. So make sure that you check out Zach at a couple of different places. Cav, you're going to be selling furniture tomorrow.

00:26:31 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm with the new folks over at Fifth Avenue Furniture. If you remember the big art band store, they used to be in Southfield on Greenfield Road, 70,000 square feet. We're going to be doing the new grand opening for Fifth Avenue. We got tons of free stuff, raffles, giveaways, Stanley Cups. I'll be there from 10 a.m. to about noon. So come say what's up. Awesome.

00:26:50 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Very cool. So both you guys will be out and about, and if you need more details on that, you can text us here, and we'll send you all the info if you want to go out and meet these guys. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. It's funny. Shannon has a question to ask. What is that question, Shannon?

00:27:11 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 4:

How many times do you send something back if you're at a restaurant and you get the wrong thing? It is so hard for me to even send something back one time.

00:27:22 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, my answer is.

00:27:23 - 00:27:24 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:27:25 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 3:

Because they'll spit in it.

00:27:27 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 4:

That's the fear. So I went out to dinner with Lucy last night and I ordered a glass of wine. I wanted this glass of wine so bad. I've been thinking about it all day. Kev, I did not get your favorite Pinot Grigio. I got a Sauvignon Blanc. Okay. And it's a brand that I get all the time. So I know exactly what it tastes like. the very nice waitress brings me the glass sets it down in front of me I take a sip I know immediately this is not what I ordered and like I said I never send stuff back but I'm thinking I really want this and I know I'm gonna pay for it so I very politely said to her I'm so sorry I think that this might be somebody else's this is you know this is not what I ordered and she's like oh my gosh I'm so sorry no problem brings me a new glass of wine it is not right either Was it the same as the first one that was wrong? It was exactly the same as the first one. So I'm thinking, okay, like somebody's mixed up back there. It's not her fault, you know, I don't think. But I also don't want to be a pain in her butt and be like, this one's not right either. So I like took another sip and then I was like, whatever. At this point, this is Jesus telling me you don't need to drink tonight. You know what I mean? I just did not want to be a jerk, but I'm like, why am I like this? And then I get the bill, and I'm so disgruntled that there's the glass of wine on it that I didn't even drink.

00:28:50 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 2:

Do you think your taste buds are off? No. Have you ever had that happen to you? No, no, no.

00:28:56 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 4:

It's the wine I buy. It's the wine I always order. So I know what this tastes like.

00:29:00 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 2:

So you asked a question, and I think the thing I thought right away was it was a food. Drinks are different than food. Food, I have a hard time with sending back. and one of the reasons I have a hard time sending it back is, and I got a couple of different pet peeves with this one, and I want people in the service industry or you to share with Shannon and all of us your thoughts on this. Food, I have a hard time sending it back, especially if it's something that's undercooked, and they'll say, yeah, we'll fix it for you, like if you order a steak or something, because I hate when they give you back the exact same thing that you just gave back, because they're just slapping it on the grill, and then that means, what happened with the other stuff that's on the side of the plate? You know what I mean? Like, it's just sitting there, you know, off to the side, getting E. coli in their thing.

00:29:47 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Not E. coli.

00:29:48 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

And I hate when they do it. Like, I like when places go, you know what will remake you something? Because it makes me feel more comforted. But also, I saw that movie Waiting that came out years ago with.

00:30:00 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 3:

what's his name, Dane Cook? No, Dane Cook. Yeah. Can you guys hear Zach when Zach's talking?

00:30:08 - 00:30:09 | Speaker 4:

I can hear that he's talking, but I can't hear what he's saying.

00:30:10 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay, Zach's talking in my headphones. Because Zach's studio, you can't hear it. When Zach talks sometimes, some people think I'm a little crazy because Zach will say it in my ear and I can only hear it, you know. So in that movie, Dane Cook, Ryan Reynolds was in that movie too? Dane Cook is not in that film. Oh, Ryan Reynolds is in that movie. Yeah, he's the guy.

00:30:31 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 2:

He looks a lot like Dan Cook at this point in his career, though. Probably.

00:30:35 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's not as good looking as he is now. So they, when they send things back, he would take it and he would give them the Fomunda. The what? He would give them a little Fomunda cheese on that steak.

00:30:47 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 2:

I think I could get that.

00:30:49 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 3:

He would take the steak and rub it Fomunda.

00:30:55 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard that before. You do not want that. That is disgusting.

00:30:58 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 3:

So next time that you send something back, everybody remember you're getting a little famundo.

00:31:03 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 4:

And to be honest with this, I didn't think that they were going to do anything to it. I just didn't want to be like that. Right. That lady sitting right there is an a-hole.

00:31:11 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 2:

She's like not happy. I'll send something back and just pray. Luckily in my life, I've never had to, well, I haven't had to send that many things back. But to your point, there's a clear distinction between a drink and some food. You can see if somebody's spitting your Coke. You know what I mean? You can't see if it's going on your sows. It looks like extra fuzz.

00:31:30 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 4:

When you really, really want something and you're looking forward to it, and then twice it's wrong, you're like, dang it.

00:31:37 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a tough one.

00:31:38 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 4:

I can't send it back a second time.

00:31:40 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 3:

Drinks, though, you know, you can kind of see where it's coming from. You can kind of, like, follow it to the bar area or wherever they're pouring the drinks. I always feel like I am, hello. I had her off. Hey, Lydia. Um, I, uh, I always feel like because of what we do that you can't, you can't be like that, that person, you know what I mean?

00:32:04 - 00:32:11 | Speaker 4:

That's another piece of it. I don't want to, I don't want somebody to think that I'm high maintenance when really I just want the right thing.

00:32:11 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't think you'd be a high maintenance guy. You want your Saviard Blanc and they bring you out. Chardonnay.

00:32:16 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 4:

I know a Chardonnay when I see one.

00:32:18 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Jason?

00:32:19 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Looks like pee.

00:32:20 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Dean Cook is in that movie.

00:32:22 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 3:

I thought so. Yeah, no, I thought so. He was the guy, he was the cook in the back.

00:32:26 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 1:

My fault, my fault. I thought you meant like starring in that. He's the one that's all tatted up and pierced at the end. Yeah. Just before they gave him the goat, he pointed at him at the very corner.

00:32:35 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Hey, Jason, let me ask you this question to go to Shannon's thing. What about sending things back? How many times can you send it back before you finally just give up?

00:32:47 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 1:

You know, once, that's it. Man, after that, it's your fair game.

00:32:52 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I worry about. Did you ever work in restaurants?

00:32:55 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 1:

What does that mean? No, thank goodness.

00:32:57 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 3:

So I worked in a restaurant. I had two different jobs. I started off as a dishwasher, and then I made it to appetizer chef. Okay, I see you. I would make it. What would you make? It was a restaurant that served the fried mushrooms, the fried zucchinis, the onion rings. You worked the fryer? I worked the fryer. I did all that. Potato skins. I did everything.

00:33:18 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 4:

Did you stink, like, for days after you worked?

00:33:20 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 3:

Let me just tell you that that smell is still on me. And no matter how much, like, my car smelled like it, it was awful. This is why I didn't get laid when I was, like, 18 years old. You know what I mean? Smell like potato skin. Because I was working at Hackney's. I worked at Hackney's in Chicago. But when people would send stuff back to us, like, I would get potato skin sent back and they would go, these things are too overcooked. Now, that I'd have to remake the whole thing. If they said they were undercooked, I can't put it right back in there. It's got freaking, you know, cheese and everything on it. So I would always just sit there, put it under the heat lamp for a little bit, and then send it right to them and see if nine out of ten times they didn't even know the difference. Hell's Kitchen. What's up, Jordan? How you doing?

00:34:00 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 1:

Hey, so I was out to dinner with my family, and great meal, finished the entire meal, and the waitress comes over with the bill, goes, wait, that meal's not on the, like, did you order something different? I go, yeah, but this was great. Oh, God.

00:34:20 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 3:

They gave you the wrong bill.

00:34:21 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 1:

And you still ate it. She goes, oh, my gosh, your thing's still up in the window. Hold on a second. We'll make you a new one and we'll cut the meal. Aw. Awesome. That was nice.

00:34:33 - 00:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, man.

00:34:34 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 1:

I will never send anything back.

00:34:38 - 00:34:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You seem like a, Jordan, you seem like a very passive guy. You don't seem like the type of guy that stands up for your rights. You're not a Karen.

00:34:45 - 00:35:13 | Speaker 1:

i ate a meal that wasn't mine of course joe what's up it's mojo in the morning hi joe hey good morning i order a steak i always order it medium rare because apparently nobody in this whole metro detroit area can really cook a medium steak it's so true overcooked you know what joe you need to

00:37:11 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 6:

00:37:26 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 3:

I probably have. I probably have. I'm not going to lie, but it's got to be right. I work too hard for my money to just be spending it on crap. I get it. I know.

00:37:37 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 6:

Olivia, what's up, Olivia? How you doing?

00:37:41 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time, long time. Hi, everyone. Olivia, the phone. so i've sent my steak back three times i it was my boyfriend's dad's uh like work dinner and it was a nicer restaurant i ordered at medium rare and i didn't realize like a nice restaurant knows how to cook a steak so this thing was still moving oh no no that's the worst isn't it the

00:38:13 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 6:

worst is when when you cut into it and i always cut the center right away like i don't go to the ends right away i cut the center to see what's going on and you can't even get your knife into it because it's so raw that's disgusting exactly what i did yeah it's the worst nancy what's

00:38:30 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 2:

happening how you doing good morning mojo how are you fantastic nance how you doing great so my kids always pray and they say please mom when we get there don't say anything you can't say that i

00:38:47 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 6:

gotta dump that you can't you can't yeah yeah yeah sorry yeah anyway so then i'm like no no you know

00:38:55 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 2:

and we go in and and i order everything everything starts out okay then it comes to the meal and And most of the time, it's okay. Sometimes it's okay, but there's flavoring. There was one time I did return the food, and my son said, no way. And it was at Red Lobster. And I returned the food because there was a hair in it. Then the second time she brings it back out, I don't know what was wrong with it. It was something else. And I just said, you know what, honey, I'm good. I just don't want it anymore. I don't want any food. and you don't have to take anything out. Just take that and my meal off and leave everybody else alone.

00:39:36 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 6:

You know that you ate them biscuits, though. Yeah. By the way, they have your picture up on the wall, just so you know that. Corey, what's up?

When you get the hell out of Dodge, we got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning. Listen to 730 to get in on Mojo in the Morning. Yeah, it's back. trips to florida all august and throughout fall and winter we're doing it with visit florida all right it's mojo in the morning show uh oh you know what it might be with me and why i'm kind of feeling a little crazy today what's up i think i saw a dead person yesterday what well or not necessarily saw but let me tell you this story so went to go pick up my dogs henry and louie from our dog sitter marissa and the house across the street from her house was surrounded by the cops and tell me if you guys are as nosy as i am whenever i see cops at a neighbor's house or see cops in my neighborhood i always got to know what's going on like i feel like i am the citizen patrol and need to have you know what's happening and at this time the paint a picture for you there's probably about four or five waterford cop cars all around this house there is also what looks like a van it doesn't have any marking on it but it looks like and i've seen enough svu it looks like a morgue van like it really does like look like one of those vans where the dead body goes into and then there were a bunch of people actually two specifically um that were look like tommy lee jones and will smith from men in black they were wearing nothing but black suits okay so this house is there and marissa's you know uh bringing uh henry and louie out and i go hey what's going on she goes i don't know these cops have been on here all day it's been happening all day and i go there's got to be something going on there's got to be some kind of craziness and she's like oh my god he's a really nice man that lives there and stuff and then all of a sudden i'm going you know what i want to do i'm going to walk my dogs across the street and go see what's going on you can't do that why i want to go like this is what i do in my neighborhood if this was a house that was like two or three doors down from my house i and i know that there's cops over there i always say to chelsea i'm taking the dogs for a walk well she'll say you never take the dogs like that has never happened and i'm like yeah but that's the only way that you can do it where you take your dogs go for a walk or you bring your kids outside to play even if they're going to witness a crime you want them to be part of this with you and you want to hear what's happening and i can't hear anything that's going on like they're not talking at this time then i want to get on do you ever see that you know that online you can find a police blot or like 911 radio yeah and then then i'm like trying to figure out how i can get on

00:43:03 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 4:

oakland counties like you are crazy you can do you guys do this at all hell no i mean the the the furthest that i've done is maybe like looked in the window or looked out of the window like sit in my living room or sit in the front door and looked outside but i'm not going oh see i'll

00:43:18 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 1:

go i'll go out if something's happening in my neighborhood well the first thing i do is check my neighborhood facebook page because everybody everybody has information before i do i don't know how these people do it but um i i will do the same as you and i will go outside and walk I am so curious in situations like that about what the situation is.

00:43:35 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 3:

The police are not going to tell you. Well, you kind of don't get the information from them. You get it off of hearing them or overhearing them.

00:43:41 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Like, if I got a neighbor out there, I'd be like, yo, what's going on? You know what's going on across the street? Like, I'll do the neighbor to neighbor.

00:43:47 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hey, Bianca and Lydia. Bianca's neighborhood, I don't know what it looks like, but I've been over at Lydia's house for a birthday party and then drove her home one time. Your neighborhood is one of those, like, sub-neighborhoods. Mojo in the morning, what's your comment? Lydia, hold out on your comments for a second. Put it on, hold, pause for a second. Lydia. No, I was going to ask you a question. I just turned it on for one second. These guys are at Lollapalooza. Lydia, if there's some action happening from the, you know, the Macomb County Sheriff's Department in your neighborhood, who's the more nosy one in your family, you or your mom?

00:44:26 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

It's actually my dad.

00:44:28 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 3:

Your dad? Oh, stop, it's George. He would be standing out there with his phone and everything. Would he really?

00:44:33 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. If Pablo even barks for two seconds because he thinks someone's at the door, my dad has to be at the edge of the driveway. He's in. He's going home. That's so funny.

00:44:41 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

So he's out there. All right, go back to screening the calls. What's happening, Mojo in the morning? Hi. Mojo. Yeah. What's happening? Nothing much. What's going on? Do you know what's happened? Was there a dead person in that house? Yeah, it was on the back porch. It was the back porch? Wait, are you a neighbor or what are you?

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Really?

00:45:02 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 3:

Had he been there for a while, or was this, like, give us the details?

00:45:05 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was, supposedly, he passed on Friday. So he was left out there all weekend. Oh, my sister. They found up Monday.

00:45:14 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, Jesus. So you, what are you, we're on the air, too. You called us. So do you know, like, was it a criminal thing, or was it just?

00:45:27 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 1:

Was there foul play?

00:45:29 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 5:

No. No? Nope. Do you work for the coppers? I guess.

00:45:33 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 3:

The coppers?

00:45:33 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 4:

No. No.

00:45:34 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you know who called the police? Was it like family or did somebody smell him?

00:45:39 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes. His family came home. Wow. And that's how they found him. Oh, man. Oh, that makes me sad. That makes me sad.

00:45:47 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 5:

But that's the thing, though. You know, I don't have you as, you know, my gossip person. You know what I mean? My dirty on the 30 eyewitness helped me out. I appreciate you calling, though. Thank you so much. Uh, what's up, Wendy? How you doing?

00:46:03 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. Thank you, Mojo. I just wanted to say, uh, I speak for every first responder when I say we hate people like you. Really? Just keep moving. Yeah. So I'm a nurse that flies on a helicopter and we'll be in the middle of a call and we turned around and there's people like, what's happening? Are they okay? Can we help? And you just got to keep moving. Get the hell out of the way.

00:46:27 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 5:

You understand, Wendy, that I can help you if you need help. I've got my dogs with me. They can sense anything. Yeah.

00:46:36 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you might be the anomaly of people that can help themselves.

00:46:41 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea calls me a wannacop. She calls me a wannabe cop. I don't know if you guys know this, but Sheriff Bouchard put me on his sheriff's council. I've got a badge. So for those that don't know that.

00:46:54 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

You strike me as the hands-on-the-hip guy.

00:46:57 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:46:58 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on here?

00:47:00 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 5:

I walk outside with my flashlight.

00:47:05 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 2:

What's going on here?

00:47:06 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 5:

My mag light. What's up, Aaron? How you doing?

00:47:10 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. How are you? We're good.

00:47:13 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:47:15 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

My parents are actually in law enforcement, and anytime that anything's happening, I actually ask my dad. I'm like, what's going on? and he'll tell me, or my mom will tell me.

00:47:26 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 5:

So that's it? You call them up? They can figure it out? I need their number, please. What's up, Skylar? How you doing?

00:47:33 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm good. In Toledo, we have a Facebook scanner group where there's people that just listen to the scanner all day long, and that's how we get our information.

00:47:43 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 5:

So we have it also. I think they have it in West Michigan, too, and in Detroit, where there's a Facebook group, and there is somebody that's sitting there listening, And then I have Oakland County Sheriff's Facebook group that I go to all the time, and it will be, what's happening on Adams Road in Rochester? You know what I mean? Like, and I'll follow that from time to time.

00:48:03 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 1:

I get all the time. Always something to know.

00:48:05 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 5:

I get all, you know, into this whole thing. Like, I want to know before, you know, anybody else. I feel like that shouldn't be public. Really?

00:48:13 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But it is public. It's public information.

00:48:16 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 3:

I know, but, like, to our nurse with the flying helicopter, like, if I hear something is happening, you cause more hysteria bringing people to it.

00:48:25 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 5:

No, but then here's the deal. I'm making sure people are staying out of the area. What's up, Leah?

00:48:30 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 6:

Hey there.

00:48:31 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:48:33 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm a paramedic. Actually working currently. I'm going to also say, just like what the flight nurse said, we do not like it when people do that. when they like to watch us. People are always on Scannerland. There's a Facebook page here in town. It's like Jackie Scanners or something. But to the point, I've had people try and get into my truck to see what's going on. They'll come up to my rig and peek in the windows. I can see you doing that. Why can I see you doing that?

00:49:05 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 5:

What do you say to them when all of a sudden you look and they're in the back of your ambulance?

00:49:09 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 6:

Well, I haven't ever had anybody truly get in my truck thankfully um but i've i have people come up to my windows because in the area that i work it's especially during the summertime there's a lot of people outside yeah and it's it's a thing sometimes like and if there's any type of scene outside or anything in a matter of seconds it can be like all those people walking their dogs man well listen i promise you this i will never get

00:49:38 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 5:

the back of your paramedic vehicle. I won't do that, but I'm sad. I'm sad to know that somebody died. So our prayers to the family. So we'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. I'm going to the police scanners during this break. Next. Warning. Members of this show have been arrested.

00:49:56 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 3:

Just not convicted.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:16 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 3:

We'll get the dirty on here. We got Throwback Throwdown coming up here in just a little bit. Who's going to win $500 for you from Imagine Theaters? That's on the way. Shannon, what's trending?

00:52:27 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, Justin Timberlake, trending at the moment, says he's been diagnosed with Lyme disease. Sharing that news on Instagram yesterday, commemorating his Forget Tomorrow tour, which just wrapped in Turkey, I think, on Wednesday.

00:52:38 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever known of anybody that had Lyme disease?

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

I do, yeah.

00:52:42 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this is Lyme disease season. They say that the ticks are a record high.

00:52:47 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 1:

So I found a tick on Bo, my dog, and it's like no joke. I've never seen a tick.

00:52:53 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 3:

You have to look, too, on dogs. What made you notice it?

00:52:56 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, it was on his nose.

00:52:58 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank God.

00:52:59 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 1:

And do you want to know? Well, it had been there for a couple of days. I kept thinking that it was like, he always digs and like I have mulch and dirt and stuff. And it was in there. And I went and got him groomed. And the groomer was like, I had to remove a tick from his nose. And I felt so bad because I was like, that's what it was. it had buried itself into his nose wow yeah so definitely check yourself check your dogs but he just in timberlake going back to him wrote that the disease can be relentlessly debilitating both mentally and physically and he said he did consider ending his tour when he was diagnosed but he decided quote that the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress that my body was feeling he said he's glad he kept going but i mean he was i kind of feel like he should have disclosed this information a while ago because he's just been getting slammed by audiences and fans for seeming to lack energy in his performances. I mean, it was just really

00:53:53 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 3:

lackluster. Remember this one, this clip? He was like not singing. He had the audience sing,

00:53:59 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 1:

but he said, you know, at least now people can understand he was in a massive amount of pain and feeling crazy fatigued.

00:54:08 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 3:

I would like him to reveal his medical. You don't believe it? It's just so interesting that this comes out two or three days after that bad press that he got.

00:54:22 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 1:

First thing I thought when I read it yesterday.

00:54:24 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was to put out a fire or something.

00:54:27 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't come out and lie about having Lyme disease.

00:54:29 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 3:

But what would be the thing of saying, hey, before, hey, by the way, I'm...

00:54:33 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 4:

Because it's nobody's business. He's just trying to push through and do what he signed up to do, which was the tour. I get that.

00:54:39 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

I just go back to when Justin Bieber was diagnosed with that. What the heck was that? Ramsey Hunt. It was basically Bell's palsy. And he came out and said, this is the reason that I've basically not been myself on stage. And actually, it's gotten so bad, I don't think I can continue giving the performances that I want to give to my fans.

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 2:

of would have appreciated that you know everybody handles things in the oh yeah you're right he did

00:55:04 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 3:

finish by writing i honestly don't know what my future is on stage but i'll always cherish this run and all of them before it's been the stuff of legend for me did you guys see what's coming back they made the announcement yesterday the presidential fitness test oh do you remember that i remember that oh my god i hated those days at gym class so we i didn't know it went away but i guess it went away it did so you had to do sit-ups pull-ups push-ups sit and remember the sit and reach the sit and reach test the program changed i think in 2012 during the obama administration yeah well yesterday president trump signed an order re-establishing the president's council on sports fitness and nutrition and part of that is that presidential fitness test to be administered by health secretary rfk jr and i saw that kansas city chief superstar harrison butker was on hand for this announcement got a little compliment from the president in the

00:55:59 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 1:

process? One of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, a young guy still. He can kick it long. I think he's, I guess he's considered the best there is in the business, Harrison Butker. So Harrison, where are you, Harrison? He's a handsome guy, by the way. I didn't, it's usually not my thing, but he is a good looking sucker. Good looking sucker. And then while we're talking

00:56:23 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 3:

about White House happenings, I also saw yesterday that press secretary Caroline Leavitt made the announcement about a new, literally a new addition to the White House, this huge

00:56:34 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 4:

ballroom. We are proud to announce that the construction of the new White House ballroom will begin. For 150 years, presidents, administrations and White House staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Trump has expressed his commitment to solving this problem on behalf of future administrations and the American people.

00:56:59 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the plans for this thing?

00:57:00 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's way too much money.

00:57:02 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 3:

It looks like it's something straight out of the Palace of Versailles. It's gold.

00:57:05 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 2:

Big, beautiful ballroom. I got really pissed off about it because I was like, okay, we got people losing their jobs and stuff, and you're building the ballroom. But then they said that the money is going to be all donated money. So they're having people donate the money. But you wonder what they're getting for their donations for this ballroom. Go back to the presidential fitness test. it was around back in the day when we started this morning show because remember we went to Abbott Middle School and Coach Jamie Thomas made the whole show do it we had to do it again it was the like what was it the shuffle run and all the rest of that stuff but he had Bryson DeChambeau there the golfer he had all these like you know obviously athletes that were part of the thing and then all I kept thinking to myself was I want to see Trump do the presidential thing Bro, I'm literally sitting up here like, you got to rename it. You got to rename it. Well, here's the deal. It was always named that. Or you got to do it. That's what I'm saying. It should have never been named that. And we've had unhealthy presidents in the past. I mean, we've had presidents in wheelchairs, for God's sakes. Change the name. But no, it'll be interesting to see how gym teachers like to do this. But I feel like kids don't even get gym class anymore.

00:58:13 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they do. Do they? I know Lucy and Smith had something called the Pacer Test, and it was essentially the same thing where they were, you know, they had to hit a certain number of reps of everything, and Lucy got so competitive. She's like, I scored the highest of all the girls in the fifth grade.

00:58:27 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 2:

She was like, she would go to bed early the night before. Could you guys do the climb the rope thing? Did you guys have the climb the rope? We didn't have that in Moscow. So we had a rope and we had to do a rope climb. You think this body is climbing on a rope? My arms would come out of the socket. No, not at all. You know who did?

00:58:45 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 3:

Brad Yeager.

00:58:46 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 2:

Tracy Rosa. Oh, I bet you watched her. She me up that rope. She me up the rope. Straight up. Yeah. All the cute girls got up on the rope.

00:58:52 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, this got a shout out in the five at 655 earlier in the show. This new face wrap that Kim Kardashian just debuted as a new product in her Skims shapewear line. It's supposed to help shape your jaw. I mean, this thing looks absolutely crazy. So, Anthony Hopkins, who very famously played Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs, posted this kind of funny parody on Instagram wearing this face wrap.

00:59:25 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 1:

Hello, Kim. I'm already feeling 10 years younger.

00:59:32 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:59:33 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 3:

He does the thing. She does the thing. Hey, Khloe Kardashian posting, reposting that to her Instagram stories, writing, I am screaming right now. Let's go. Why do we want this?

00:59:45 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 2:

That's such a great movie.

00:59:47 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 3:

Are you looking at it right now? You know why?

00:59:49 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Why do we want this? Kevin, people want to look young. I'm sorry, just because black don't crack and you always are going to look young. Yeah. White people want to look young, too. I'm just saying, but white people.

01:00:00 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 4:

We can't look young, but do y'all all want to look the same? We all want to look like Kim Kardashian.

01:00:04 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm saying. Everybody's face is going to be shaped the same? Yes. That's kind of crazy.

01:00:08 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 4:

I want to look like, what did you say the other day? I want to look like Caitlyn Jenner. That's what I want to look like.

01:00:15 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 3:

Catch up on everything you missed from the week by searching Mojo in the morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:00:22 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. What's up, Krista? What's going on?

01:00:24 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 2:

Hey, it's actually called the Fitness Gram Pacer Test. Yeah, that's what we did. Yeah, the pacer test.

01:00:30 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And is it the similar thing, too? Is it all the same stuff?

01:00:34 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they do all types of crap. My son had to do it, and he said that he was so out of breath, he has asthma. Oh, yeah. So it just wore him right out.

01:00:43 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Of course it did. I will tell you this. You know, it's interesting that you look at, like, what schools probably serve in their cafeterias, and then you have to go do that right after you just had lunch. That was, like, my horrible times.

01:00:55 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 2:

That pizza?

01:00:55 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 4:

I had hot dog day when I had to do my fitness test. It's not a good one to have a couple hot dogs.

Isn't that cool?

01:02:12 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 5:

You just got to give cash at that point, right?

01:02:14 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what it is. It says a $50 check. I'm assuming Lydia can tell us. But Lydia's on the phone grabbing information from the winner here. We'll figure out.

01:02:24 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 6:

Check is probably more illegal.

01:02:25 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Lydia?

01:02:25 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 6:

Paper truck.

01:02:26 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 4:

What is a $50 check? What does that mean? Oh, she's calling the person in there. All right. Let me do a topic, and then we'll ask her before. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Your home of War of the Roses. The Dirty on the 30. Second date update. Throwback throwdown. All coming up. Kevin? Yep. Are you sure you wanted to talk about this? Yeah, why not? Okay, what do you got? Have y'all ever seen somebody quit? Quit at their job? Yeah. Oh, God. I don't think I've ever witnessed anybody quit. Oh, yeah, I did. I witnessed when I was at a restaurant, I saw somebody, like, leave. I quit this, bitch. Did they leave in a blaze of glory? They, well, they just left. They just walked out. They came up to our table and they said, we're really sorry. Your, you know, waitress is gone. I remember that, yeah.

01:03:15 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 6:

Well, we got somebody that's quitting today, and I don't see them right now, so I don't know if it's already happened or not, but I hope they don't want it.

01:03:28 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 3:

Is this known information aside from us?

01:03:30 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I don't think so. You probably shouldn't talk about it.

01:03:32 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm not going to say any names.

01:03:34 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 4:

So why don't we do this? Let's ask this question. Have you ever witnessed somebody just quit? Have you ever witnessed somebody quit? And if so, what was the way that they quit? How did they quit?

01:03:44 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 6:

I used to have quitting dreams. Like, I always thought, like, if I were to quit, like, we all have those thoughts sometimes. And maybe our earlier years, like, man, if I were to quit, this is how I would do it. But I've never quit before. I've been fired.

01:03:59 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I've been fired.

01:04:00 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 6:

What was firing it like? They walk you into a room, middle of the day. And now, luckily, I've never been fired at the end of a shift. So I've never had to work the entire day and then get that.

01:04:09 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 4:

So middle of the day, though, seems equally as bad.

01:04:12 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 6:

I feel that, because why did I have to wake up in the morning and come here? Y'all could have just called me last night. Y'all didn't make that decision this morning.

01:04:18 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 4:

I always believe that if you're going to fire somebody, just fire them right at the beginning of their shift. And, like, even before they, like, fire them by having the key card not work. No, call me the night before. No. So I can stay up late, bro.

01:04:31 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 3:

I've had that, too.

01:04:32 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 4:

You had it. Did you like that? I've gotten fired twice.

01:04:35 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, okay, so the first time that I got fired from the morning, our entire morning show got fired. It wasn't just me each time, but, um, the first time I got fired, the company that I worked for sent us on a week long cruise with like a thousand listeners. Oh, I like that though. We get home on a Sunday that night, the boss calls and says, you don't have to come in anymore. The show is no longer. I don't feel bad for you at all. Okay. You just got off a week long.

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 1:

cruise in it yeah then what a send off that's the second time we did our whole show and when

01:05:05 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

we got back into our office they're all of like the bosses were waiting in there for us and they

01:05:10 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 1:

said and that was your last show and that was it you can't even say goodbye no no and by the way it is extremely rare rare in radio i feel like lately it's been way more uh popular to let people say goodbyes on the radio usually companies do not let you do that and i've seen more people i think maybe it just be here and tony you know trusting some people to do it but um he's allowed you to do it which it was when i first got into radio when i was 18 years old i mean they had people in security jackets escorting you out of the station that's what it was when they did it so yeah and i think the biggest thing is they don't want you to go on the air and say something you shouldn't be saying so um you get sued you know it's funny i've never been fired for real ever yeah isn't that crazy i've never been fired from a radio job i've been fired from other stuff what else you got what have you been fired from uh i've been fired from uh a restaurant job i was fired uh at one of those i was fired from my newspaper delivery job when i was a little kid there's a newspaper delivery guy the guy basically was upset with me because i would take half of the newspapers and deliver them the other half of the newspapers i put them in a garbage can But as far as quitting goes, and I've thought about this, too. Like, I've thought about how to quit. And I actually had, so I quit two jobs. So I quit a job in Chicago to go to Arizona, quit the job in Arizona to come here. And when I went into the office of each of the programmers, I'm a crier. I cried. And so I couldn't get out my, I'm quitting. and I walk into the office and I'll never forget the last one was Debbie Debbie Wagner was my general manager in Arizona and I was going to take this job in Detroit and even though it was the same company she didn't know that it was going to happen because they don't tell each other you know nowadays it probably would be they would call her and say hey we're looking at hiring somebody and I walked into her office and she goes what's going on how's everybody doing how's the kids we had just had Jacob how's the baby doing and I'm like oh really good I really want to talk to you about something and she's like yeah and I go well this is really really difficult

01:07:20 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 2:

I can totally see this happening

01:07:25 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 1:

no no she gets up comes around the other side comes over and goes maybe Chelsea has postpartum and that's why and she thought I was getting divorced or something she thought Chelsea was divorcing me or leaving me and I'm like no Chelsea and I are great we're going to Detroit she's like I'm leaving you and she goes And this was actually kind of interesting because she was, like, not happy at all. Like, not excited because for her, she was losing her morning show. And you guys were wildly successful there. We had a great show, yeah. But it was one of those ones where I've thought to myself, I'm like, I should not be the person that calls somebody and tells them I'm leaving or quitting or whatever the deal is. Because I can't keep it together because I get emotional. With Megan, Megan quit with us. So that was, like, when she came in there, I didn't expect that. She's like, I'd like to have a conversation with you. And I'm like, wow, this is very professional. No, no, she was very, very, you know, professionally, you know. I would not be professional. I'd be like you. I'd be a puddle. For real? Oh, my God.

01:08:33 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 2:

It depends on what I had lined up. No.

01:08:35 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean? What's up, Shannon? How you doing?

01:08:37 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. Good morning. Good morning, Shannon. So I worked at Arby's, right? And I won't say this guy's name because I know it's a lot of my friends that used to work there that still, you know, still work there. So I won't do that. But we had a guy that quit. And when he quit, he cursed out everybody, the manager, the shift manager. And after he did that, he left out the back door. But before he left, he took Arby's sauce, horsey sauce, like all of those dipping sauces and threw them all over the walls and the back door. So the people on the next ship had to clean that up. Oh my gosh That's a blaze of glory

01:09:14 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 1:

That is

01:09:15 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Now you said blaze of glory And that's what made me call If you talking about somebody leaving in a blaze of glory That guy Left in a blaze of glory

01:09:26 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you this You do not do that to horsey sauce That is the best sauce in the world

01:09:31 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 2:

That's abuse That is abuse

01:09:34 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 1:

That is abusive You do not mess around with my horsey sauce I love my horsey sauce

01:09:40 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I've ever had that.

01:09:43 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's the best. What's up, Donovan? How you doing?

01:09:47 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Good, how are you?

01:09:48 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Good, what's happening?

01:09:49 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

First time, long time. Hey, Donovan, how you doing? So, I was working at a car wash in high school, and we had this new manager.

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 4:

I was working with him at a different car wash, and then he came to the car wash I was working at. I can't say that.

01:10:06 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 7:

I got a dump. Okay, let me just say this. When we do a topic about people that are going out in a blaze of glory and quitting, we probably should expect that some people are going to call their bosses a-holes. You cannot say that word on the air. Go ahead, Donovan. Say the rest.

01:10:23 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 4:

Nine of us quit all at the same time, and we quit by leaving a note.

01:10:28 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

01:10:29 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 4:

What did the notes say?

01:10:30 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, please be safe with the stuff that you say.

01:10:35 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 4:

It was just, we quit, we're done. And it just had all of our names. And we left all of our shirts on the deck. It was like the Declaration of Independence.

01:10:44 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. And did they try to get you guys to come back? Or were they able to function as a company? Man, I can't imagine when everybody walks out at the same time. That's called a strike. What's going on, Brianna? How you doing?

01:13:45 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 7:

You want to know if you're going to get fired around this place? Try to log in online moments before you go to a Tony Travato office meeting.

01:13:54 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 6:

That's how I work at. You can't log in online. It's not good.

01:13:57 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you know something bad's about to happen. They've taken you off of the Instagram, Facebook accounts, all that stuff.

01:14:04 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 8:

Good to know.

01:14:05 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 7:

Hold on, Leonard.

01:14:06 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 8:

That's actually, by the way, how I know that something happened, as I get the text of, here are the new passwords for all the accounts. I'm like, oh, no, who got fired?

01:14:16 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 7:

Leonard, what's up?

01:14:18 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on? I worked out at the Z-Bar in Bay City, and I basically worked in a grown man shop because he hung out with anybody else. He would cry about it the next day at work. He wanted to be in everybody's conversation. Well, it was on a Wednesday, and he was really getting on my nerves. So I finished up with my clients, and I was going to punch out, and he was like, you all done? I was like, yep, I'm done permanently. Punched out and walked right out of the garage door. Wow. You just kind of did it. And they're looking like, what?

01:14:53 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 7:

When you say a man child, a grown-ass man child, you're saying that the guy was a pain in the ass?

01:15:00 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. So it was two other guys that I worked with, and we will hang out outside of work. So if he found out about that, he would complain about that. Like, nobody told me, or y'all would say y'all was going to beers or going here. He wanted to be part of everything.

01:15:17 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:15:18 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We'll put this to it all day.

01:15:20 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm going to tell you this, that the people here at our building are going to miss the person that's leaving today. So we we we love the guy and I'm not going to give out business on the air, but I'll tell you that it won't be the same without him. So Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30, the last dirty of the week. Shannon's got it for us. What's going on?

01:15:44 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 1:

OK, I want to really quick give you a heads up on something that is happening for a great organization that we work with on this show and have worked with for years. It's called the New Day Foundation. It's the organization that I do that lip sync for every year, but they help families who have somebody battling cancer and they help them pay their bills and they just do so many beautiful things. And our great friend Gina created this organization. And so for the month of August, starting today, the BP gas station in Rochester on the corner of University and Maine. and you're going to see it pumps one and two are totally wrapped with information about the new day foundation and five cents from every gallon for the entire month is going to go to help new day that's awesome new day families okay so this is the bp in rochester corner of university in

01:16:41 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 4:

maine so fill up there fuel up there make sure you use pumps one and two and if you have to wait and wait because it's worth it and what new day does when a family finds out that you know mom or dad or some of the kids get diagnosed with cancer it's a financial mess for the family many cases people who are the breadwinner in the family have to quit their jobs or or work less new day steps in to help them with their bills while they're doing this so they help make sure that it's not something that they have to stress about while they're trying to just get their health back so new day focuses on this with families with cancer and they are truly one of the best organizations i've ever seen breaking and entering christmas wish teams up and helps out some of their families from time to time gina's been a friend for a long time shannon i know you and megan did a great job with the lip sync battle you're going to be doing it again this

station uh university in maine fuel up pumps one and two and give them some love that's awesome

01:17:51 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah so justin timberlake revealed some interesting information yesterday he said he has been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

01:18:03 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 2:

Recent videos from his world tour showed Justin Timberlake struggling. Looking sluggish, the audience appearing to be singing most of his vocals. Now we know why. Timberlake revealing his fight with Lyme disease, saying, living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically. I could understand why I would be on stage and in a massive amount of nerve pain or just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness. Lyme disease can mimic many types of infections. ABC News medical correspondent Darian Sutton says most Lyme disease cases, if caught early, can be treated within two weeks with antibiotics. Symptoms can include a rash, fatigue, muscle aches, and joint pain. If left untreated, it could lead to facial paralysis, irregular heartbeat, and arthritis. The infection spreads through tick bites. The CDC says ER visits from tick bites are at a six-year high this year.

01:19:00 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 5:

Before you go outside into a wooded area, you want to practice prevention. That can include repellent on your skin, such as DEET. A natural option can be oil of lemon eucalyptus. You can also double up by placing permethrin on your clothing. And then when you get back inside from being outside, studies show that taking a shower within two hours of arriving home can reduce your risk. Taking your clothing and placing it in the dryer at high heat also reduces your risk.

01:19:22 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 1:

Going back to Justin Timberlake, he finished his post saying, I honestly don't know what my future is on stage, but I will always cherish this run.

01:19:31 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 4:

Real quick. Yeah, I thought he was going back with NSYNC.

01:19:35 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that was the story that I got. I don't know. You're going to be good, Justin. I don't know if that's true.

01:19:41 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm Justin Timberlake. Mojo in the morning. Future news outlets, when you're preparing a package about Lyme disease and Justin Timberlake, Do not let the first song you play be, I got a feeling deep inside my bones.

01:19:54 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God, I didn't even think about that. Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael.

01:20:00 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

Jackson and her longtime partner, music producer, Justin Long, have officially ended their engagement. You saw all the photos of her crying in public this week. That is why. They just got engaged in December.

01:20:11 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 2:

How does she look nowadays? To the Googles. Let's see. Paris Jackson. How's Blanket doing? Does anybody know if Blanket's okay? Oh, Paris's kind of cute. No, she's cute. Do you call yourself Blanket as an adult? Like, are you a grown adult going, hi, I'm Blanket? I don't think so. No, never mind. Really? Although I do know a guy

01:20:27 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

named Slacks. Slacks.

01:20:29 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 2:

who calls himself slacks. Really? Is that a radio guy? No, it's not a radio guy. He's a normal guy. He's not like the stunt guy on a rock show or something? Uh-uh. It's slacks.

01:20:41 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 3:

Kamala Harris said America's political system is broken, and that is why she is not running for California governor. We told you this yesterday. She sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show? Yes. The Late Show.

01:20:55 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 1:

Let me say something about Joe Biden. I have an incredible amount of respect for him and I think that the way that we should be thinking about where we are right now is to remember that we had a president of the United States who believed in the rule of law, who believed in the importance of aspiring to have integrity and to do the work on behalf of the people. And that's where I'll leave that.

01:21:32 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 3:

The question she was asked, by the way, that that answer was to, was when she knew, when did you find out that you were going to have to take over for Biden in that presidential campaign?

01:21:41 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 2:

So I was checking out the New York Post, and they were talking about Stephen Colbert, because, you know, having, obviously, the vice president on. And they did a tally of Stephen Colbert's guests since 2022. Colbert has hosted 176 left-leaning guests to only one right-leaning Republican guest. And a lot of people are saying that his humor became very much so polarizing to what would be considered the 50% of the audience. Because there's like a 50-50 split of left and right, I guess, out there. And it's interesting because they looked at the view and the view was even more drastically the same way. And so some of these shows are like being affected by ratings. And it's kind of interesting because I will say this to you. I used to watch late night television and I never like thought that either of the people that I watched because it was Letterman and Leno and stuff like that and even Kimmel. I didn't know what their political beliefs were. And nowadays, I feel like I watch like the late night television shows and I can tell exactly where where they are and where they stand. And I feel like it's interesting that the networks, you know, talk about the loss of how much money that some of these late night shows are losing. And I wonder if maybe like not appealing to 50 percent of the people that are out there is not a good idea. You know what I mean? Like, do you think like shows like Colbert and the, you know, Kimmel and Fallon and those guys should just get away from the political talk and just not be political? Or is that so much, is that just so much of our, you know, world right now?

01:23:30 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 3:

But you know what? I mean, I, I don't love doing political stories in the dirty.

01:23:36 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:23:37 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 3:

And so I think that there's a way to do it where you can touch it. If something's huge and everybody's talking about it, you can do it in a way that is, I mean, hopefully I come across non, what is it? I have no idea where you are.

01:23:52 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I know. You do? Wait, can I say something, though?

01:23:56 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 3:

I just think there's a way to do it to still inform people, but you don't have to, like, sit there and sit in it.

01:24:00 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 2:

But I think you can joke and make fun of Trump and do all that stuff. But I also think that when your guests, all of a sudden, they're coming on and they're a bunch of Congress people and senators and things like that. Like, whatever happened to late-night television being celebrities that have movies coming out or music artists or something like that?

01:24:17 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

And skits and, yeah. And bits and things like that. Yeah.

01:24:20 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Hey, listen, I could be in the minority that feels that way. But there is no doubt that now they're talking about, they're saying that SNL could actually be one of the next shows that cost too much money for the network and the network could pull SNL. That would be so sad if a show like that went away.

01:24:37 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:24:38 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 2:

Because that's where a lot of talent came from.

01:24:39 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And lastly, you were just talking about the Chrisley husband. Why can't I think of his name? Chrisley. Todd. Todd Chrisley. We were just talking about Todd Chrisley yesterday. And this morning I come in and I'm doing research for the Dirties. And I didn't realize they have a show, a new reality show that's going to air on Lifetime in September. The Chrisleys.

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 5:

to reality this call is from chrisley this call will be recorded and subject to monitoring at any

Mojo in the Morning show. I love when your kids throw you for a loop. You know what's funny? This story that you're about to tell is one of those stories that when it happens to you, you wish you were prepared ahead of time to know exactly what to say, but your kids never give you forewarning on things.

01:26:20 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 2:

We love Dateline. You guys know this. I love Dateline. And so I watch Datelines all the time in my house. And now I've gotten my kids addicted to the Dateline podcast. So mom of the year here, we're listening to murders in the car. But that is what we listen to if we're in the car. My kids actually ask for instead of like listening to music, we listen to Dateline podcasts. And so Mojo, my very favorite, Keith Morrison. Yes. It was one of his episodes that he was narrating of Dateline. And in the story somewhere, he talks about a condom being found as part of the evidence for this murder investigation.

01:26:57 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 4:

Do the Keith Morrison voice, just so I know how. Like, put me in the car.

01:27:00 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 2:

You want me to try to do that?

01:27:01 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, put me in the car. And then there was a condom. He's so good. He's so good. I love him. Actually, hold on a second. Hold on. Hold on. Let me see if I can pull up.

01:27:13 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 2:

I got to interview him, Kev. Mojo and I did.

01:27:15 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:27:16 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 2:

Of anybody I've ever interviewed in my career, I about fell over.

01:27:21 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you something? Shannon would cheat on Wes with Pete Morrison. He already knows this.

01:27:26 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Wes would probably be like, okay, that's how much I love him.

01:27:29 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 4:

You would let him talk you through it?

01:27:30 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 2:

Shannon would be like, can you give me a condom? Where do you have a condom? I love him. So he's like, and it's one of those things, and as a parent, you know these situations where-

01:27:43 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 1:

so complex so devious an act so bad it's kind of hard to get your head around about a young man who's suddenly up and went traveling the world but what really happened hard to believe date line nine o'clock eight central yeah clean up on out three Shannon spilled something

01:28:09 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 2:

but there are those occasions as parents were like I'm driving in the car and they're talking about like sex and an affair and condom and I'm like oh please don't let anybody be paying attention except for me well they're like you know eyes glued locked in and Smith from the back seat goes mom what's a condom and i was like oh crap and usually i can come up with something but that one i'm like this is a interesting ex like this requires an interesting exclamation you know what i'm talking about what i'm trying to say so i was like i don't even know i didn't hear that i don't know was lucy in the car yeah but she wasn't i don't think she was or she didn't care but she let it go but he and he i was like please don't ask me again because sometimes when i don't answer his question he's eight years old he will ask until he gets an answer now mind you i should go check his ipad from yesterday because he probably googled it

01:29:13 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

and got an answer but um video you know is what's funny the kids by the way are amazing and especially when they're kids like smith who smith is just a freaking funny completely colorful great kid but when kids will ask you something like that you wish you had the video to save and play in their graduation videos or they're getting married video or whatever yes it keeps me i have video of Luke in the backseat singing songs and stuff, and he's singing the dirty words to the songs that are going on, and it cracks me up that I have some of these videos, and I'm going to give them to his future wife one day. I remember one time I was in the seventh grade, and we had a

01:30:00 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 2:

guest speaker that came in might have been career day I don't know what it was but she wasn't our teacher didn't work there guest speaker comes in I didn't know what the word was she's finishing up her presentation this is her last moment she's already taking questions and she's like one more before I go my boy Lance Cochran I'll never forget his name he's like ask her ask her I didn't have no idea what it was he he told me it so I raised my hand she's like yeah you I'm like are you a virgin her face and my teacher's face oh my god they look like ghosts i can totally see little kevin doing this she walked out she's like okay that'll be all he just left on a totally different

01:30:36 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 3:

note my dad never called him condoms my dad called him uh called him rubbers rubbers so my dad would always go my dad would always say to my brothers when they were my sisters when they were leaving the house and they were you know going out with boyfriends and girlfriends bring the rubbers And I never, for the longest time, knew what that was. Because my grandfather used to call the things that you would put on your shoes if you were walking out in the snow, rubbers, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I would be like, why are they doing that in the summertime? Like, why are they putting, how is that making you safer in the summer, bringing out the rubbers? My mom used to call them prophylactics. Oh, yeah.

01:31:15 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 4:

And whenever Dr. Werner was talking about it, like, you know, he just says protection.

01:31:21 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what's your protection. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to know from you, what's the craziest thing your kid ever asked you? And did the kid asking that have to do with our show? Because didn't we have one the other day, Lydia? That was a good one where a parent called up and. Oh, yeah.

01:31:45 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was saying thanks to your show. My kid now knows what butt stuff is. Oh, my God.

01:31:53 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 2:

We're like a physical education class, you know? But, but, but, but. This is Ed over here.

01:31:59 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Kristen? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

01:32:02 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

01:32:03 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's happening?

01:32:05 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 1:

God, I just don't. Shan's always talking about Dateline. I wonder if she's seen our show.

01:32:12 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you guys were on one of the Dateline episodes? We were.

01:32:17 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

It was during COVID, so we didn't get to actually meet Keith.

01:32:20 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 3:

Who was the narrator of your show? Was it him? Was it Keith?

01:32:25 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 4:

Who was?

01:32:27 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 3:

Keith Morrison.

01:32:28 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, what's your episode called?

01:32:31 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 1:

We just couldn't physically meet him. He was like through a camera.

01:32:36 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

01:32:37 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 1:

We had to do it virtual.

01:32:38 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 3:

Which one was yours, Kristen?

01:32:41 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 1:

My mother, Martha Agnew.

01:32:44 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, Martha Waters.

01:32:46 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 2:

So the Googles.

01:32:48 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

And what happened? Who killed who?

01:32:50 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 4:

um my dad well my stepdad killed my mom

01:32:54 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 3:

oh my god wow did you ever see that one

01:33:00 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 4:

I've seen I honest to goodness gracious have seen them all I've listened to or seen every single one

01:33:06 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 3:

I gotta watch that by the way I have got to watch it

01:33:09 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 4:

I bet you know a lot of them take place in Michigan really yeah there's like a good chunk of datelines that take place in Michigan I never knew that I didn't know that either

01:33:21 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 1:

I was like holy crap I guess we got a lot of crime

01:33:23 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea calls them dateline dates and she does it with Luke where she and Luke will sit there and just watch hours of dateline and now it's gotten to be the point where I have my shoulder surgery and I couldn't sleep at night I would have dateline that channel that just runs nothing but dateline episodes

01:33:39 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 4:

yeah we love it and then you can't sleep at night because you're like crap now I'm not going to get murdered

01:33:44 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 3:

exactly Kristen I'm going to watch your mom's episode I'm sorry about that that happened to you. Do they give you anything for that? Do they pay you to be on Dateline? No. You don't get episode money or anything like that or any kind of residuals?

01:33:58 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 1:

No, it's just like putting out the story and trying to make it not happen again.

01:34:05 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Keith Moore.

01:34:08 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

He's great. He's very funny. He was very calm about everything.

01:34:11 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

Excuse me, Kristen. It's me, Keith Morrison. I don't know if that's how I keep on.

01:34:16 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 4:

You know, we need to have Andrea Canning on the show, so her and I chat every other week or so. Who's she? Keith Morrison is one of the...

01:34:24 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's like the Lester Holt that...

01:34:26 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 4:

No, she does the reporting.

01:34:28 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she does the reporting?

01:34:29 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:34:29 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I turn it off. No offense to Andrea.

01:34:33 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 4:

So her and Blaine Alexander are the two females that do it. You said if it ain't Keith, I ain't going.

01:34:37 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 3:

Her, the fat guy... Josh Mankiewicz? Josh Mankiewicz.

01:34:42 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 4:

He lost a lot of weight.

01:34:43 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 3:

Or Dennis Murphy? And Dennis Murphy, I don't watch him. If Keith Morrison does it, if I don't do it, I don't watch it.

01:34:50 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 4:

They're doing a Dateline show, like a panel in Nashville in a month. I want to go so bad.

01:34:57 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Andrea Canning, I love you. You're beautiful.

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 4:

looking you up right now on my imdb but i'm sorry you're not keith morrison i will not watch it

01:35:05 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 6:

what's up heather how you doing hey how are you happy friday what's happening okay so when my son was like nine or ten years old we were sitting in the doctor's office and he was looking at this flyer on the wall for boys in puberty and i had seen that he was looking at it pulled it down and we started discussing i said do you have any questions and he said like yeah i have a few and we were reading through and we got two erections and it talked about having an erection in math class.

01:35:34 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 8:

And he went, I'm going to get a

01:35:36 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 6:

hard-on in math class!

01:35:38 - 01:35:40 | Unknown:

It was like so panicked.

01:35:40 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 6:

And he did not want to hit puberty after that at all.

01:35:43 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

See, even like that to me is easier to talk about than like because it's age-appropriate. But condoms, you're like, ugh. I didn't even know where to start so I just pretended I didn't hear it.

01:35:55 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait, wait. What were you saying about the

01:35:58 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 1:

Smith asked Wes like maybe like a year or two ago when they were driving in the car all about puberty and Wes like this was before we were even married so not even being stepdad yet he was like uh but recorded it recorded the whole conversation about like what is puberty yeah what's up Danny

01:36:15 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 3:

good morning my favorite radio people we love Danny what's going on Danny good morning okay so i have a 10 year old son and a couple weeks ago his dad and i split back in 2015 but he asked me when his balls were gonna drop and i'm like i don't have any

01:36:33 - 01:36:42 | Speaker 4:

what made what made him think about his balls dropping that's hysterical

01:36:42 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 3:

i have no idea he had one of his little friends over so who even knows what they were talking

01:36:47 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 4:

about that is great ah what's going on ian how are you hey mojo what's up what's up buddy

01:36:55 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 5:

hey so i was over my cousin's house one time and her kid was taking a bath he was about five years old at the time and uh we were sitting in the living room and the bathroom door was open so we could hear him and all of a sudden we hear um guys why is my peepee frozen

01:37:11 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 4:

oh that's funny that's great hana what's up hi good morning good morning um i remember when i was

01:37:30 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 10:

a kid i was probably like six years old snooping through my mom's drawers and i found this like pink wand thing and i was like oh look at this it's a back massager and i'm like turning it on and, like, trying to massage her back with it. And my mom, not looking back on it, I just know how petrified she is.

01:37:47 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 4:

She just rode the wave. It's a neck massager. Remember that from the Sex and the City episode with Samantha? What's going on? How you doing, Grace?

01:37:57 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 11:

Hi. When I was around eight years old, I remember hearing Gladys Knight and the Pimp. And I said to my mom, what's the Pimp? And I had eight, I had seven siblings, and she said, go ask your brother that.

01:38:08 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 4:

By the way, it wasn't Gladys Knight and the pimps. It was Gladys Knight and the pips, wasn't it? Pip. The pips.

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 11:

I know, but I was only eight years old. I thought it was pips. So you didn't know. Yeah. I didn't know.

01:38:20 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 4:

The pimps. That's an honest mistake. Kirsten, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about kids and saying crazy stuff when Shannon got asked by Smith about a condom. What's up?

01:38:31 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 8:

So my 10-year-old took sex ed, and they were talking about deriates for boys. I 10-year-old's a girl. So she came home talking about boys have deriates, not periods, instead of just saying boys go through puberty.

01:38:45 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. By the way, tell her, yes, they do get their periods, just so you know that. They get that time of the month. You said menstruation. Oh, I like this one. Ab, are you there? I'm sorry, Abe. What's up, Abe?

01:39:00 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, everyone. Good morning. What's happening? The other day, I was driving with my little brother around, and he loves sports podcasts. And so he was watching a sports podcast about, I think it was like a basketball team or whatnot. And the commentators on the podcast said that this team got their cheeks clapped. And so in the car, he's hitting his cheeks, and I'm like, what are you doing? He's like, oh, I'm getting my cheeks clapped.

01:39:29 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. how old is your little brother sarah what's up it's mojo in the morning hi sarah

01:39:41 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 9:

hi how are you we're great what's going on so my eight-year-old son the other day we were having a conversation about body hair and about how women have you know hair in their armpits and so do men and he's like okay well when do you shave it and we're just talking Thank you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 6:

and then he asks me what he's supposed to do about the hair on his hot dog.

01:40:06 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. He's got it early, huh?

01:40:12 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 6:

And I said, you're going to have to talk to your dad. I mean, he wants to show me, and I'm like, I don't need you to show me. I believe you.

01:40:20 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 4:

That, by the way, is always the best thing. Ask your mom. Ask your dad.

01:40:24 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

01:40:39 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning show. We have our show broadcasting this morning from Detroit and also from Chicago as we, Shannon, Kev, Zach, and myself, are in our home studios in Eastern Market, downtown Detroit. And Lydia and Bianca are in the studios in Chicago where they're at Lollapalooza. So all our winners that went to Lollapalooza, they're going to get a chance to hang out with them. Everybody from Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Toledo that won tickets back when, you know, when we were giving away the tickets to the entire weekend. By the way, the ticket prices for this, for the whole festival, when you look at it, that prize was a huge prize that we were giving away. Oh, for sure. I mean, that's we're paying eight hundred dollars. Wow. Do you do you understand also, does everybody understand how many artists and how many A-list artists are on this thing? Like like we do our festivals and we do like, you know, cool stuff like for the two days. Lala is actually extended by two more days because it's Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You got four full days of the festival. Do people like sleep outside?

01:41:52 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't think you're allowed.

01:41:53 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 4:

You're not allowed to. I don't believe.

01:41:55 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 1:

You have to leave the park by 11 p.m.

01:41:57 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And it's in Grant Park. If you've never been in Chicago, where the big fountain is, that's across from Lakeshore Drive. Is that here to Bean? So it's right by the Bean. Okay. Just a little bit further down the street from where the Bean is. It's the park. I actually went to college right across the street, Lydia.

01:42:12 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no way.

01:42:13 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 4:

Columbia College is, yeah, right across the street. Actually, it's funny. We used to go to Grant Park and get high. That was our- For real? Yeah.

01:42:20 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 5:

I've never heard you say that.

01:42:21 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 4:

First time I ever experienced any kind of, like, drugs or anything like that was in Grant Park. And when a guy said to me, hey, do you want to come over and smoke? I'm on drugs. And I said, well, you know, I'm from the suburbs and I don't, you know what I mean? I was kind of like, I was wearing my polo shirt, you know, and stuff like that. And next thing you know, the next week I was, man, I was growing dreads. So I was Rasta man by the time that thing was done. So, um, but, uh, anything, uh, anything going on there at all? Anything cool happening? Y'all smoking weed in Grand Park? Any celebs hanging out in Chicago at all coming by the studios?

01:43:03 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, not here to the studios, but we were just invited by Jason to go hang out at the media town where they're going to be doing some interviews. He didn't really tell me who they were interviewing yet, but me and Jason Brown, right? Yep. Jason Brown. He's a shout out.

01:43:14 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 4:

I like him. Jason works on The Fred Show, and he, I believe, double duties as the promotions director, too, doesn't he, for Kiss?

01:43:23 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 1:

He does, yeah. Him and Paulina stopped by for a little bit to help us out.

01:43:26 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 4:

I love Paulina. Paulina is a sweetheart.

01:43:29 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 5:

Y'all got to meet T-Pain for me.

01:43:31 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm going to try.

01:43:32 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 2:

That's my number one who I want to see. Hey, let me tell you, I'll make anything happen. If I got to pull some strings, do some illegal stuff, we'll make it work. Make it happen, Kaji. Oh, we already know.

01:43:41 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 5:

Just don't stuff anything in your butt. Wait, what?

01:43:44 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 2:

What?

01:43:45 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wait, wait, real quick.

01:43:48 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you guys something that used to happen in Grant Park? Speaking of stuffing in your butt. Wait, what? Where is this going? No. What people used to do to get stuff into Lollapalooza so that they knew that they could get it in was people would go to Grant Park, dig holes, bury whatever it was that they wanted to bring there.

01:44:08 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 3:

Drugs or alcohol. Like flats. Yes.

01:44:10 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 4:

And a lot of them was like some of the hardcore stuff that they wanted to get in. And they would dig and put them in there. And then it caused for a panic because first comes drugs, then comes bombs and stuff like that. Like people started worrying about it. So they had to shut down the park like weeks beforehand and make sure that people weren't doing that. And then they'd double check and make sure everything is safe. But that was a big story for a while where people were doing that and leaving things there.

01:44:36 - 01:45:03 | Speaker 5:

Man, I took a girl to a Travis Scott concert. He performed at a place called Russell Bazaar up here. And we get through. obviously you're not supposed to bring anything in we get inside the concert she started messing around with her weave like what's going on she ended up pulling out two blunts rolled in cigarillos stuffed it in her hair i said yeah you're a smuggle queen i've never seen you on i was like this is insane How expensive the drinks are here. I should have probably buried a hole in Brooklyn.

01:45:03 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 2:

How much is it? Because I remember they were talking about Coachella. Things were like incredibly expensive. Chicken tenders were like $24.

01:45:08 - 01:45:14 | Speaker 5:

What's to that Lola? Chicken tenders here are $17. Are they really? That gives you some of a perspective. And drinks are about $12.

01:45:14 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 4:

No, like $20. Drinks are $20 here.

01:45:16 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 3:

But that's no different than going to a Tigers game or a Lions game. You know?

01:45:22 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 4:

Pine-num. Well, we got Panda Express before we went to Taco Bell. And so we're on a budget.

01:45:28 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't know how you guys do it, because the one time I went to Lollapalooza, I made sure I didn't eat or drink for hours beforehand, because I did not want to have to go to the port-a-potties.

01:45:37 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I used the port-a-potty yesterday.

01:45:39 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 3:

I have never in my life had to number two in a port-a-potty, and I never want to.

01:45:44 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Have I had the doodle in a port-a-potty?

01:45:45 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 3:

I probably. Have you guys ever had to?

01:45:47 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 2:

I can't think of it off the top of my head, but I probably.

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Really?

01:45:50 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you got to, like, dress it up, squat, shoot it out.

01:45:53 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 3:

All right, well, here's a question to ask the girls on the show, because I was asking this question to a buddy the other day and he said to me he goes you should bring this up as a survey on your show and I said to him I go we don't do that kind of a show and he goes I've listened to your show you do this kind of show girls just for the girls only because I know guys do this do you guys ever rate your poop

01:46:16 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 6:

oh my god yeah I look at it every time I wonder if it's going to break in half yeah sometimes I'm like Lydia sometimes I am like oh i am so impressed i'm like that came out of me all right so here's the question and we got

01:46:33 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 3:

to keep it as clean as possible okay we got to be really mindful of that wait lydia aren't you

01:46:37 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 5:

so proud when it doesn't break though you have to do the double flush or you have to hold down

01:46:41 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 3:

really hard that doesn't happen at a guy's house does it i hope not that would be bad okay right has it what's wrong with it it never happened at a guy's house has it i've never oh no you don't You don't poop at a guy's house.

01:46:55 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 5:

You pooped at a guy's house before? I plugged the toilet at a guy's house.

01:46:57 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 4:

You did? Yeah.

01:46:59 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 3:

Leave it to Bianca. Bianca, you're in trouble.

01:47:01 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 4:

And that's why we're not dating anymore.

01:47:03 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Where are my ladies at today? I want you guys, I want you guys to be totally ladies. My mother, by the way, is so in heaven right now going, because my mom used to tell my sisters all the time, women should never talk about their duty.

01:47:25 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes I send pictures. If I'm real impressed my friend Lindsay gets a picture.

01:47:29 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 3:

I will say this to you. The guys that were in my family there's three boys and three girls. The guys would all be talking about their duties all the time and my sister would go and my mom would go nope. You're a lady. Go put a dress on. What's going on? How you doing? Initial K. What's happening? Your voice is guys.

01:47:51 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 7:

by the way obviously you don't want your oh yeah because i've had problems with that before

01:47:57 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 8:

01:48:14 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 3:

I get it.

01:48:15 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:48:16 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I get it. And so you do. Sure. Because I always figure that girls just close the lid and flush it before they even see it because you're such a lady.

01:48:28 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 8:

No, the toilet paper gets examined before.

01:48:32 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah.

01:48:34 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 8:

And then when you're done, you go and look and you make sure you're healthy.

01:48:37 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. That's actually.

01:48:40 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 8:

You stand up, you say, I probably need some more fiber.

01:48:43 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 3:

What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking? I know your voice is guys, but what do you do for a living?

01:48:54 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 7:

Oh, a server.

01:48:55 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 3:

What did she say? A server. Server. Okay. By the way, are you working right now? All right. Do it on the job.

01:49:01 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 8:

I just got out of my cleaning job. I also do that.

01:49:04 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. I always love that. It's like, what do you do for a living? I, uh, chief of staff. I'm chief of staff. Yeah. I'm a doctor in a hospital. Hold on. Craig, the truck driver's on with us. What's going on, Craig?

01:49:19 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. I stopped in Brazil, Indiana many, many years ago and walked into a stall, and what was in the toilet looked like it really hurt. It was too big to even go down the hole, and I felt bad for whoever worked there because it looked like they had to break it apart with a stick.

01:49:35 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. The fact that he still remembers the name of the town.

01:49:40 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 3:

Wait. What is the stick called? Isn't there a... A poop fork. It's a knife. Or a poop knife. It's a poop knife, isn't it? Not a poop fork, a poop knife. They Google it. They sell poop knives that you can keep them next to your toilet with the plunger and the scrub brush and all the rest of that stuff. Crystal, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:58 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy.

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, I don't rate my poop. What's wrong with you?

01:50:02 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 3:

Right? Girls don't do this, right?

01:50:05 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 1:

I don't rate it, but, you know, I have called in the past and told you guys that I did have to have my ex-husband cut it before.

01:50:13 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 3:

Eat that day. Oh, my God. There you go. Did you have the poop knife, the actual knife knife?

01:50:22 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 1:

No, we just threw it away. It don't happen once.

01:50:26 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm not doing that.

01:50:27 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 3:

By the way, these ladies are amazing. Hold on a second. Kelsey, are you there?

01:50:33 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm here.

01:50:34 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 3:

Kelsey, what do you do?

01:50:36 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 1:

No shame, no shame. You got to take a picture when it looks that good. I can't get myself to delete it.

01:50:42 - 01:50:43 | Unknown:

It's on my phone.

01:50:44 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 3:

Got a whole folder. Do you know what's amazing? I bet you when people are scrolling through your pictures, I bet you there are people that literally happen upon that and don't even understand what the hell they just saw.

01:50:58 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 1:

And that's okay. I'm proud of it. I'm proud of it.

01:51:01 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 2:

Did you imagine screen sharing, like screen mirroring on the television trying to play

01:51:05 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 1:

a video and that pops up? Oh, whoops.

01:51:07 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:51:10 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 1:

He was impressed.

01:51:12 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 3:

By the way, John Tallenger just sent me a text and it says, I was yelling for Heather a few weeks ago and she thought something was wrong, but I was actually asking her to get a measuring tape. She wasn't too happy. Possibly a world record. oh my god that's when you know that there's love in the household right what is the guinness world record what's up uh robert hi how you doing good how's it going mojo hey it's going good buddy

01:51:41 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 1:

how you feel i'm pretty good i'm pretty good so i wanted to talk about the topic you're on actually you really do are you sure uh i think i'm i think i should okay what's going on go ahead so um i had a patient um who had to take a big crap or whatever right um and so they finally took a poop and we go in there me and another nurse the patient poop was so big we had to take a tongue holder like three of them and tape them together to chop it up in my pen y'all enough

01:52:22 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait. What hospital is this at?

01:52:25 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 1:

I can't do this anymore.

01:52:27 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, I can't tell you that now. Providence. No, no. That's poopa violations.

01:52:36 - 01:52:37 | Unknown:

Why did you say that?

01:52:38 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 3:

It's not bad enough.

01:52:40 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 4:

Sophistication, intellect, culture, engaging discussion. You won't find any of that here. That last conversation proves it. This is Mojo in the morning.

01:52:52 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. If you do want to know, though, the longest fossilized human stool is about 7.9 inches long.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:53:00 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 2:

That's it?

01:53:01 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 3:

That's it?

01:53:02 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 2:

Uh-uh.

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 3:

Ah, jeez.

01:53:03 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 2:

Heard of Googles.

01:53:04 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 3:

All right. Mojo in the morning show. Next topic here. You can't use someone else's subscriptions.

01:53:11 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 2:

Listen, when sharing passwords, right, like sometimes you may have Peacock, I might have Hulu, we might need to share, right? There has to be rules when you share. I think one of the rules is, you know, depending on relationship, you might be able to make a profile if you are blood related or if you're super cool. One of the things you absolutely cannot do, in my mind, is purchase a movie without telling the account holder.

01:53:36 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

01:53:37 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 2:

You cannot purchase something like that.

01:53:38 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. If you're borrowing somebody's password and if it requires that you actually get an extra payment off of it, you cannot do that. Absolutely. Is that ground for termination? What happened? What are we talking about? What kind of service are we doing?

01:53:51 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 2:

So a friend of mine, well, this is Apple TV. A friend of mine, we share movies. Like, okay, what's your movie list? What are you watching? What shows are you watching right now? She told me about a new movie on Apple called, like, Baron's Cove. She's like, oh, my friend loves it. I'm telling you, you got to watch it. I Google it because I want to see what it's about. And I notice it's $5.99 on Apple TV. And I'm like, there's no way in hell I'm about to pay to watch this movie. She gets dead silent. I'm like, you still? She's like, hold on. She's pulling up her app and she's looking. She's like, I know this. And she cusses. I know this. and bought a movie on mine. Whoever she's lending her password to told her about a movie that they bought on her account without telling her. For $6, too. For $6. That's never happening.

01:54:31 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 3:

And she didn't notice the difference in price because she just got it auto-paid, right? Exactly. Does this happen to any other listeners? Like where this has happened to you, where you've lent somebody your whatever it could be, password to any of the streaming services, or you even brought up something interesting this morning,

01:54:47 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

like costco cards or sam's club cards i don't know what's in the water right now but people i feel like so i got a got a friend that goes to sam's club she allows her family to use her sam's

01:55:00 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 8:

card or whatever like that. I got busted doing that. You should not do that. It was horribly embarrassing. They're real strict at Costco now. This was a few years ago before I had my own membership but I used my sister-in-law at the Times membership and they looked at it and they were like this is not you. They had already checked out all my stuff. It was so embarrassing. They made me walk over to the membership desk, buy a membership, come back and pay for

01:55:23 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 6:

my stuff. No way. In this situation, her family members I guess when you check out you get cash back. and you can utilize that cash on whatever purchase you're having right now so you can take some money off. They're using that money without telling her. They're not paying for their membership. They're receiving all the benefits and using that cash back off their own order. And she's like, no, bro, I pay for the membership. That $30, $40 off your order, that's mine.

01:55:48 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 8:

You wouldn't have even been able to go there if it wasn't for me.

01:55:51 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 4:

What about your Kroger points? Do you ever have people that use your phone number to take the Kroger points at the gas pump?

01:55:57 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 8:

I still use my mom's, like, our home phone number from growing up. I don't even know if my mom realizes that you can get 10% off a gallon or even more, depending. So I use it all the time.

01:56:06 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 6:

Do you?

01:56:06 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:56:06 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 6:

My grandma used to get pissed. She used to let me use her Kroger points, but just don't use it for gas.

01:56:12 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 4:

The gas was off limit. Because that's where you use it, usually, is you should use it on gas. We all, I just throw Chelsea's number on everything. So I give Chelsea the number thing. And, like, even yesterday at the grocery store, like, I'm giving Chelsea's number on the deal. and if she goes to try to use the points because it's the benefit of me not having to sign up and they're not there she knows exactly who did it it's probably one of the boys you know that took that took it you know it's usually joe he's the culprit the kid that's got a full-time job um 844 mojo live what's going on kyle hi hey so we're talking about the shared

01:56:46 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 3:

account thing um my stepdad and i have a little battle back and forth every now and then when i log in his profile pic will be where he's Superman and mine will be a little ferret and then I'll log in and I'll change me back to Batman and I'll make him an old turtle and we just keep going back and

01:57:08 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 4:

forth every time. See we change names so that in our family we make fun of each other by changing the names and poor Joe gets picked on by everybody like he's definitely the butt of all the jokes. Josiah changed

01:57:20 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 6:

my nothing right now is STD dickhead.

01:57:22 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 5:

wait like just the first letter of everything oh like is std dk i think something std dh you're by the way the kid's 12 years old i'm telling you what school teaches you a lot what's

01:57:37 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 7:

up ashley hi hi how's it going good what's going on so i will get a random venmo sent to me at like usually the night time and it's always for just a random amount of money and i know my brother ordered a movie so he just he doesn't even ask he'll just do it and he'll send whatever money and so i'll always just text back and say what'd you order like what movie are you watching tonight

01:57:57 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 4:

yeah because it's always a movie at least he's nice and repays you that is really nice that's the way to do it in the summertime i hate when luke's home uh because luke will order like 12 movies in a night he'll order the movie watch like five minutes something and i don't like it and then he goes the next one and he thinks that xfinity gives it to you for free and it gives me

01:58:16 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 1:

the whole you just purchased stay sam what's up hey what's going on what's going on check this out so uh a buddy of mine we work for the fire department somehow his kroger number has the employee discount so when we go in the morning to uh shop for food for all the stations in the in the city everybody uses that discount well i got a big old diesel truck by typing his phone

01:58:45 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 4:

number and literally every other time it's a dollar off so you're stealing one of your fellow firefighters points from kroger it's something like that he knows that we use it i looked at

01:58:58 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 1:

the receipt last year in the year-to-date uh savings for the employee discount was like 22

01:59:04 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 4:

000 oh my god by the way this is one of those deals where i'm telling you you better be careful because we think that you guys that are firefighters serve and protect. You guys are not law-abiding citizens, are you?

01:59:17 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, we are. Of course we are.

01:59:20 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 4:

Hey, thank you, buddy, for what you do. Thanks for running in when we're running out. What's up, William? How you doing? I'm good.

01:59:28 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 2:

You know, sharing your passwords, that's not very right at all. You know, these companies, they rely on that money just like you rely on your subscribers. to you shouldn't be even talking about sharing passwords passwords should never be shared with anybody for any media in any way shape or form shut the f**k up

01:59:50 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 4:

William are you gonna make a citizen's arrest right now no but you still shouldn't be talking

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

about it you know it's how

02:00:00 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:03:37 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 6:

The last dirty of the week. Shannon's got it for us. What's going on, Shannon?

02:03:40 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I want to really quick. give you a heads up on something that is happening for a great organization that we work with on this show and have worked with for years. It's called the New Day Foundation. It's the organization that I do that lip sync for every year, but they help families who have somebody battling cancer and they help them pay their bills and they just do so many beautiful things. And our great friend Gina created this organization and so for the month of august starting today the bp gas station in rochester on the corner of university and maine and you're going to see it pumps one and two are totally wrapped with information about the new day foundation and five cents from every gallon for the entire month is going to go to help new day that's awesome new day families okay so this This is the BP in Rochester, corner of University in Maine.

02:04:36 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 6:

So fill up there, fuel up there. Make sure you use pumps one and two. And if you have to wait, wait. It's worth it. And what New Day does, when a family finds out that, you know, mom or dad or some of the kids get diagnosed with cancer, it's a financial mess for the family. In many cases, people who are the breadwinner in the family have to quit their jobs.

02:05:00 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 5:

or work less new day steps in to help them with their bills while they're doing this so they help make sure that it's not something that they have to stress about while they're trying to just get their health back so new day focuses on this with families with cancer and they are truly one of the best organizations i've ever seen breaking and entering christmas wish teams up and helps out some of their families from time to time gina's been a friend for a long time And Shannon, I know you and Megan did a great job with the lip sync battle. You're going to be doing it again this year with the girls.

02:05:32 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 6:

You ready, Shannon? Well, not yet, but I will be.

02:05:35 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 5:

So, again, Rochester, the BP gas station, University in Maine, fuel up pumps one and two and give them some love. That's awesome.

02:05:46 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So, Justin Timberlake revealed some interesting information yesterday. He said he has been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

02:05:54 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 3:

The CDC says ER visits from tick bites

02:06:53 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 4:

are at a six-year high this year.

02:07:18 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Going back to Justin Timberlake, he finished his post saying, I honestly don't know what my future is on stage, but I will always cherish this run.

02:07:27 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 5:

Real quick. Yeah, I thought he was going back with NSYNC.

02:07:31 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that was the story that I got. I don't know. You're going to be good, Justin. I don't know if that's true, but.

02:07:36 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm Justin Timberlake. Mojo in the morning. Future news outlets, when you're preparing a package about Lyme disease and Justin Timberlake, do not let the first song you play It'd be, I got a feeling deep inside my bones. Oh, God.

02:07:50 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't even think about that. Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, and her longtime partner, music producer Justin Long, have officially ended their engagement. So you saw all the photos of her crying in public this week. That is why. They just got engaged in December.

02:08:07 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 5:

How does she look nowadays? To the Googles. Let's see. Paris Jackson. How's Blanket doing? Does anybody know if Blanket's okay?

02:08:14 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Paris's kind of cute. No, she's cute.

02:08:15 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 5:

Do you call yourself Blanket as an adult? Like, are you a grown adult going, hi, I'm Blanket? I don't think so. Yeah, nah, never mind. Really?

02:08:22 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 2:

Although I do know a guy named Slacks.

02:08:24 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 6:

Slacks?

02:08:24 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 5:

And he calls himself Slacks.

02:08:26 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:08:26 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 5:

Is that a radio guy? No, it's not a radio guy. He's a normal guy. That's not, he's not like the stunt guy on a rock show or something? No, uh-uh. It's Slacks. Slacks.

02:08:36 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Slacks. Kamala Harris said, America's political system, excuse me, is broken, and that is why she is not running for California governor. We told you this yesterday. She sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. Yes, The Late Show.

02:08:50 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 1:

Let me say something about Joe Biden. I have an incredible amount of respect for him. And I think that the way that we should be thinking about where we are right now is to remember that we had a president of the United States who believed in the rule of law. who believed in the importance of aspiring to have integrity and to do the work on behalf of the people. And that's where I'll leave that.

02:09:28 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 2:

The question she was asked, by the way, that that answer was to, was when she knew. When did you find out that you were going to have to take over for Biden in that presidential campaign?

02:09:37 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

So I was checking out the New York Post, and they were talking about Stephen Colbert, because, you know, having, obviously, the vice president on. And they did a tally of Stephen Colbert's guests. Since 2022, Colbert has hosted 176 left-leaning guests to only one.

02:10:00 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 1:

right leaning Republican guest. And a lot of people are saying that his humor became very much so polarizing to what would be considered the 50% of the audience. Cause there's like a 50, 50 split of left and right, I guess out there. And it's interesting because they looked at the view and the view was even more drastically the same way. And so some of these shows are like being affected by ratings and it's kind of interesting because i i will say this to you i used to watch late night television and i never like thought that either of the the people that i watched because with letterman and leno and stuff like that and even kimmel i didn't know what their political beliefs were and nowadays i feel like i watch like uh the late night television shows and i can tell exactly where where they are and where they stand and i feel like it's interesting that the networks you know talk about the loss of how much money that some of these late night shows are losing and I wonder if maybe like not appealing to 50% of the people that are out there is not a good idea you know what I mean like do you think like shows like Colbert and the you know Kimmel and Fallon and those guys should just get away from the political talk and just not be political or is that so much is that just so much of our you know world

02:11:25 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

right now but you know what i mean i i don't love doing political stories in the dirty yeah um and so i think that there's a way to to do it where you can touch if something's huge and everybody's talking about it you can do it in a way that is i mean hopefully i come across

02:11:43 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 1:

non what is it i have no idea where you are oh i know i don't you do wait wait can i say

02:11:51 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 3:

something though i just think there's a way to do it to still inform people but you don't have to

02:11:55 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 1:

like sit there and sit in it but i i think you've you i you can joke and make fun of trump and do all that stuff but i also think that when your guests all of a sudden they're coming on and they're a bunch of congress people and senators and things like that like whatever happened to late night television being celebrities that have movies coming out or music artists or something like that skits and yeah things like that yeah i don't know and i hey listen i could be in the minority that uh that that feels that way but there is no doubt that now they're talking about But they're saying that SNL could actually be one of the next shows that cost too much money for the network and the network could pull SNL. That would be so sad if a show like that went away.

02:12:32 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:12:33 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 1:

Because that's where a lot of talent came from.

02:12:35 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And lastly, you were just talking about the Chrisley husband. Why can't I think of his name? Chrisley. Todd. Todd Chrisley. You were just talking about Todd Chrisley yesterday. And this morning I come in and I'm doing research for the Dirties. And I didn't realize they have a show, a new reality show that's going to air on Lifetime in September. 02:13:06 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 4:

We will get through this. I don't know how it's going to end, but at some point the truth is going to come out.

02:13:13 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 2:

I live every day with the hopes that I will be reunited with my husband. and my kids and my parents and my mother-in-law

02:13:24 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 4:

do you think there's a possibility that I could get out of here before I need a facelift

02:13:30 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 5:

I like Wiener

02:13:35 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 3:

02:14:19 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 5:

Hi, yes it is.

02:14:21 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Where are you from, Mia?

02:14:23 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm from Chesterfield.

02:14:24 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 1:

The Besterfield, right?

02:14:27 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:14:30 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 1:

Mia, would you like to go away this winter and hang out in Florida on the beach at Clearwater?

02:14:38 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 5:

Clearwater? Yes, that's your favorite vacation spot.

02:14:43 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Winner, winner. Yeah. If you win the grand prize Monday morning at 7.30 when we pick the grand prize drawing winner from the five qualifiers, if you win, you better take us. Okay. No, no, no. I'm joking. Who are you in the car with?

02:15:04 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm with my mom. Hey, mom.

02:15:07 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 1:

What's your name, mom?

02:15:09 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm Angela.

02:15:10 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Angela. Nice to talk to you. Nice to have you on here. Angela, are you okay with Mia? Mia, how old are you? I'm 18. Are you okay with Mia going down to Clearwater if she wins this thing?

02:15:23 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 2:

She's actually going to probably bring me. Okay. She's okay with that.

02:15:26 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 1:

By the way, there is nothing better than a hot mom, hot daughter going down to Florida. Wow. Here's the deal.

02:15:34 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 2:

People mistake us as sisters.

02:15:35 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you are unbelievable. Thank you. You just got all us guys excited. If you win, you have won a trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida. You will stay at the Shepherds Beach Resort. You will enjoy a sunset on the Gulf aboard a Yacht Starship's sunset dinner cruise. You will go also to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and see dolphins. And then you will also get dinner at Salty's Island Bar and Grill. It's all courtesy of Visit Florida. Thank you to Visit Florida. Yes, indeed. Isn't that a huge gift? That's a nice prize. Yeah, so they're back. Visit Florida is back. and they've been on with Mojo in the morning for more than a decade. They've been giving us trips to give away. And actually, Chelsea and I had a really cool experience, guys. And it's so funny. I didn't tell this story on the air, but when we started giving away, I'm like, oh, I got to tell this story. So Chelsea and I go down a lot and visit Joe. So Joe lives down there. The Joe Show, you ever listen to those guys ever? In the afternoons? Listen to them, Mom and Mia. We will. So Joe does a morning show with Ashley and Jed down in Florida and Tampa. So we were hanging out and we were at, uh, in Clearwater at a place called Columbia, which is a really, really amazing, uh, Colombian restaurant. It's like a Cuban food restaurant. It's unbelievable. And, um, we're eating at the restaurant and these people next to us kept staring over, staring over, staring over. And Joe was with us and Joe didn't recognize it at all. But I'm like, oh, this is really cool. This is a bunch of Joe show listeners. Yeah. And so I saw them stare at one point and I'm one of those people that I want to know if you're a listener. Right. So I'm like, hi, you guys listen to the Joe show? And they go and Mojo in the morning. Let's go. Which probably devastated Joe.

02:17:29 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, but no, it's still so cool.

02:17:31 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 1:

They, they won the trip from us. Wow. The two of them, they won the trip from us. They went down to Florida. They thought that we planned that we were going to eat next to them. They had no clue. And I had no clue that they were down there because visit Florida doesn't tell us when you guys get your trips and when you decide to take them.

02:17:49 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say you get to pick. Yeah.

02:17:50 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 1:

And we always get people that call us afterwards and say, oh my God, we got treated with like VIP. We cannot believe how amazing this prize was. And they thought that we planned it, that we were going to eat next to them.

02:18:01 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

And going to surprise them or something at the end.

02:18:03 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 1:

That was so cool. And we ended up picking up their tab, too, for it. So that was awesome.

02:18:06 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 2:

I will say this, though. Visit Florida if you're listening.

02:18:08 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 1:

If you do want to, you know, send us down there to surprise them.

02:18:12 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, we were supposed to.

02:18:14 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

Remember last year, Lydia, what was it? Last year we were supposed to go down and do a show broadcast. And then at the last minute, it turned into more trips for listeners, which we decided to take instead. Yeah, that's the right way to do it.

02:18:24 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 2:

We extended it for like three months, three more months.

02:18:27 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

So tell them this year, forget the listeners.

02:18:29 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 2:

Screw the listeners. We want to go.

02:18:31 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're going down to hang out with Mia and her mom. Yeah, what's up, mom? Yeah! Hang on, guys. We're going to get your information. Have the best time, okay? Hopefully you guys win this on Monday morning when we do Shannon's time. We have to win! Please, please.

02:18:47 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:19:03 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 1:

Can we do a topic right now and we'll do Lydia's Leftovers? Because there's sometimes on the show where we have topics that we turn in all the time and Lydia never chooses the topics. And at the end of the week, what I like to do is I like to have everybody tell what is the Lydia leftover topic, the one that she will not pick. and then we just do it, throw it out there, and see how it does. Is that okay? Can we do that? Yeah. We haven't done that in a while. Yeah. And honestly, it's Friday, and I'm at a point right now where I don't know if you can top the conversations that we had this morning. We've talked about Smith learning about condoms. We talked about rating your poop. We also talked about, hold on a second, let me go through the list here. We talked about how I saw a dead body. I witnessed somebody dead.

02:19:53 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 2:

That story, I'm still, we're trying to wrap my brain around.

02:19:56 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Quitting at the last minute. Um...

02:20:00 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

How many times do you send it back using somebody else's subscriptions and the things that you can't do when you do that? So, all right, so Lydia's leftovers. And here's my leftovers for today. I threw this out there a couple of times, and Lydia has not chosen this as a leftover to do. Um, my leftover topic that I would like to do is, where's that? Oh, 44% of Americans are cool, trash talking their spouse's outfit. 44% of people say that they have told a romantic partner that they didn't like something that they wore and 48 percent have never ever done that and i thought that that would be an interesting one of do you ever tell your significant other i hate that shirt because i have never said to chelsea i don't like something that she wears really ever like i don't i'm not gonna do that i'm not for first off i love everything she's got great taste that's a lie chelsea does not

02:21:16 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 3:

have great taste it's a lie that you like every single thing she's ever worn god that's a lie

02:21:20 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 4:

I swear to you, honestly, the only thing I've said to her one time was it was, it was not revealing enough. Like I wanted her to actually wear something. I am obsessed. I am obsessed as a man. And I don't know if any other guys feel this way. When Chelsea wears golf outfits, women in golf outfits are so damn hot. But here's the thing where I say with this, the 44% of Americans are cool, trash talking their spouse's outfit. I don't say anything to her. She has told me stuff that she doesn't like that I wear. She being honest. Yeah, she was like, the other day I had a shirt on, and she was like, oh, when did you get that one? You know how Chelsea sounds, right? She's got that sound to her. Dick. Yeah.

02:22:07 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 3:

When did you get that one?

02:22:08 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, when did you get that one? And I said, what are you talking about? And I bought this shirt, and it was actually a nice shirt. And she actually, so it was a bad, it looked bad on camera too. Like, you know, I got belly fat that's bad. When did you get that one? It's hilarious. And she just didn't like it at all. And right away when she just said, when do you get that one? I know I'm taking the damn thing off. It's a no-no. All right, so that was my topic. What would be your topic that Lydia has not used at all?

02:22:37 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 2:

For me, it was, Luz and I were at the mall the other day, and we were standing in line at Sephora. and I looked to my left at like the wall of perfumes and there was a girl getting helped by one of the people at Sephora. She's like standing there shopping and I noticed that the girl had a, and I'm talking huge white and yellow snake wrapped in her hand, around her arm in her hand as she's shopping for perfume at Sephora.

02:23:08 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 4:

Like a real snake?

02:23:09 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 2:

A real snake. Like, and I said to Lucy, I was, like, motioning over to Lucy to look, and then Lucy saw and was like, blah, and walked to the other side of me. But I just, like, I've seen people bring emotional support dogs. Like, I've seen dogs out in public. I've seen cats in backpacks, which I think is weird. A snake wrapped around your arm while you're shopping at Sephora is wild to me. Wild.

02:23:34 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 4:

By the way, what Sephora are we talking about? Somerset Mall. Come on. Things like that can't happen.

02:23:38 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 2:

Swear on my life.

02:23:40 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 4:

Like that at-

02:23:42 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 2:

Swear on my leg. Oakland Mall? I can see it at Oakland Mall.

02:23:45 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 4:

At Oakland Mall, I can see people bringing in like llamas and stuff like that right now.

02:23:49 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 2:

And this wasn't like a little teeny thing.

02:23:52 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:23:53 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 3:

She had the anaconda with her.

02:23:54 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy. She brought a pet snake. Man. All right, Kevin, what's your leftover?

02:23:58 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 3:

I hate doing this, man. Why? Because they might get re-served one time. She's not going to use it. You never know. We got to sit down and have a conversation. You never know. You're right, Kevin.

02:24:06 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 4:

Lydia doesn't like a lot of your topics. So there's definitely one you can pick.

02:24:10 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't like a lot of my topics. You know what I mean?

02:24:12 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, come on. Here we are, though. I think Kevin likes to recycle them.

02:24:15 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 4:

I do. Kev does. He re- Bro, literally.

02:24:17 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, like, for example, we talked about one of your topics last week on being competitive with your spouse. Yes. And then he went ahead the next day and put that in his topics. Like, no, that's not the easy way out. No, no, no. You can't do that, Kevin. No, yes, I can because- No, you cannot.

02:24:29 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell you why I can't. Okay. I can because it's going to be a list that maybe you'll pull from a week from now or two weeks from now. Basically, he plagiarized me. Is that what he did? Yeah, that's what he's doing.

02:24:40 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 1:

He's using it as a filler because you don't want to say three topics.

02:24:42 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 4:

He's a plagiarist.

02:24:44 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what it was?

02:24:46 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 4:

Instead of staying up to 1 o'clock in the morning binge watching, you should be thinking of topics.

02:24:49 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what it was? Go ahead, Kevin. So you had a competitive topic with Chelsea when you guys were playing quarters. Mine, if we were thinking of ways to produce it instead of just throwing it away.

02:25:00 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 4:

My version was I went out, took a girl, putt, putt, go off. I lost. I was so mad that I lost. I took her ass to Zap Zone afterwards. Then I played racing games, air hockey, and Connect Four. Okay, that's funny. That's a different type of vibe. You can take it somewhere else if you just think about it. That's funny. That was your choice of your choice.

02:25:16 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 3:

That wasn't the one I was going to bring up. No, which one were you going to bring up?

02:25:18 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, I just brought that one. All right, we'll bring that one up.

02:25:20 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, good. All right, Zach came in the studio like he wants to say something. Zach only gets, like, maybe a topic a week, right, Zach?

02:25:26 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 2:

Which is fine.

02:25:27 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 3:

You know, you deserve a topic a week. Go ahead, Zach.

02:25:31 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, this one happened to me this weekend where it was super hot outside. Went outside and I noticed I live with some characters. Basically, I ran into a lady with her left breast out. That's my story. I'll tell you how we got there, but that's a story.

02:25:47 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Is it a neighbor of yours? Was it a good breast or a bad breast?

02:25:51 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 2:

It was a bad breast. Really? Saggy. Is there a such thing as a bad breast? Yes. Oh, yeah.

02:25:56 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 1:

Was she aware that said breast was out for people to see?

02:26:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was a hot day, and they were just out.

02:26:02 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 1:

But one, but not the other.

02:26:03 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Correct, because she was wearing, like, a crop top. So it was just like, hey, Zach, and she probably has-

02:26:08 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 1:

Coming out the bottom of the crop top?

02:26:10 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 4:

She probably has lost- I like your boobies. She lost feeling in her breast. She didn't even know it was out.

02:26:16 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 3:

One of my favorite-

02:26:16 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 1:

Coming out the bottom.

02:26:18 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 3:

One of my favorite topics we have ever done on this show was, and then the boob popped out, where you have to tell the story, but the story has to end with and then the boot popped out because that's a funny one too um anybody else got any uh that they want to share at all leftovers is lydia's leftovers this is where we go through and bianca any store any topics that you uh had this week that lydia

02:26:39 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 5:

wouldn't choose um let me check i always send her some great ones and she like never chooses any of that lydia is oh guys she sits with me and does show no listen and i'll say listen listen i have a great one what's that i have a stalker are you kidding so i last week when we went out i had someone texting my phone like everything that i was wearing everything i was like holding how many i held up a certain amount of fingers i'm like how many fingers am i holding up and he said three which was how many i was holding how did this person have your phone number i don't know it was like it was one of those fake numbers it was like those green like the green phone or whatever with the green text, and I looked up the number. I had my brother, like, text his copy. That's not a fake number.

02:27:24 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 3:

That's an Android. Look for the guy who's an Android in the box.

02:27:32 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 5:

But for me, it's a fake number. If your texts aren't blue, I don't want to text you. It's not iMessage, basically.

02:27:36 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:27:37 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 5:

But I looked up the number, and nothing came up with it. So I was just kind of confused.

02:27:41 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 3:

That's a great topic.

02:27:42 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 5:

I tried calling him. You should call my police. Huh?

02:27:46 - 02:28:25 | Speaker 3:

All right, real quick. You said to police. Let's ask the listeners. Ask the listeners, out of all these topics, which topic do you think Lydia should have chosen? Out of everybody's topics, all these ones. My topic about telling your spouse you don't like their outfit. Shannon's topic about seeing the chick at Sephora, the snake at Sephora. Kevin's topic about Kevin being ultra competitive and taking the girl out to Zap Zone after he lost it. Zach's topic about the neighbor with the ugly boob or Lydia's getting stalled. These are all so good. I mean, these are great. It's a full show. Yeah. Like, I mean, which one of these topics? I can't believe you didn't choose any of these.

02:28:25 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 1:

Maybe we have our show planned out for Monday already.

02:28:26 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, these are great. That's great. Lydia, I mean, we did some great topics this week. Like, this was an amazing week of Mojo in the Morning. If we can, let's, please. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

02:28:38 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 5:

Except for right now, my phone lines are down, Mojo.

02:28:40 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Phone lines are down? Yeah, for me.

02:28:42 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 5:

For me. They're open still on doors. My computer's too.

02:28:44 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

I can see them. 844 Mojo Live. Okay, it resets. So now that it reset, you can call now. We got all the lines are open. And you can call now. They all went away for a second and reset.

02:28:57 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Dude, Bianca's is pretty good.

02:28:59 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 5:

I know. I'm kind of worried about you.

02:29:03 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 3:

Bianca's is amazing, but Bianca's is one of those ones where I almost want to ask, how do we figure out who that guy is? Like, can we take that? Like, those are one of the, sometimes a topic, and this is something for the listeners that give you a little backstory on sometimes we do a topic not just for the compellingness of the topic but it's also to figure out how to stop this guy and honestly I wouldn't know how to do it sometimes opening it up to listeners like this morning's topic that I did about the dead guy I got information and the cops the cop guy called

02:29:37 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 4:

you baby boo shark you little shark I'm sorry

02:29:43 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm kind of a sheriff, yes, I guess I am kind of a... Mojo in the morning, hi, how are you? Good, how are you? Good, out of these topics, which one...

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 4:

are you most intrigued by? Which one did you like the most?

02:30:04 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 6:

I would have to say the being truthful about your spouse's outfit.

02:30:10 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I like you. You know why you're my favorite listener of the week. Are you that way? Are you truthful when it comes to stuff like that?

02:30:18 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. Like, my mom will message me and she'll be like, how does this outfit look on me? And I'm completely honest with her and I tell her, I'm like, look, it looks like crap or it looks good. And she loves it.

02:30:31 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 4:

What a horrible son you are. You're never supposed to do that to your mother.

02:30:35 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 6:

You've got to tell the truth. She's very honest. Like, she wouldn't. Why do you got to swear all the time?

02:30:41 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 4:

We've had three or four dumps this morning. I can't believe it. These people do that to me. Texter here right now says, Bianca's topic is, to me, one you'd go to the police with, not do on the radio. That is from 810. Is that a green bubble? 734 says, Zach's for sure. I need to hear more.

02:31:06 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 5:

I want to talk to this movie.

02:31:09 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 4:

What do they need to hear? Kyle, which topic do you like the best out of all these topics there in Lydia's leftovers?

02:31:17 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 6:

I think Bianca should be picked so we can figure out who the sky is.

02:31:21 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I think that's a – because here's the deal. If at the end of that topic we can get that guy to come on the air with us and have my uncle Bouchard arrest him, you know what I mean? What do you think that guy's up to? You think he's somebody that she's friends with? Because he had her phone number. It's got to be, right?

02:31:45 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 6:

It has to be a friend. Just make her scared a little bit.

02:31:49 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's kind of creepy, though, that this guy was doing that stuff. uh thank you for thank you for the call kyle uh what do we got here i'm waiting for i'm waiting for lydia to put some calls on hold samantha is next what's up

02:32:06 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 1:

samantha hi yeah i had uh was thinking i loved shannon's and zach's but kind of like a mix of both of you guys topic where it's really what's the wildest thing you've ever seen in public Okay.

02:32:20 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:32:21 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:32:21 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, because that's actually, honestly, those are both really good ones. Shannon saw the snake, and Zach saw a boob that looked like a snake.

02:32:30 - 02:32:31 | Unknown:

Yeah, kind of.

02:32:32 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 4:

What would you, like, what is a bad boob? What does a bad boob look like?

02:32:35 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 5:

It looked like a tulip sock.

02:32:40 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:32:42 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 3:

Legit.

02:32:45 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Aaron, what's going on? Hi.

02:32:46 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I think it's Bianca's father that's talking to her. You know, she's kissing guys in cabs and sitting on guys' laps. Oh, my God. I think it might be her father.

02:32:58 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 1:

But she would see him. She would notice him.

02:33:01 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 4:

Her dad would be hysterical. By the way, what kind of phone does your dad have, iPhone or Android, Bianca?

02:33:07 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 1:

Nah, he got an iPhone. He's hip with it.

02:33:08 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:33:09 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 1:

He can't speak English, but he can type.

02:33:13 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 5:

Google traveling.

02:33:15 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 4:

All right. By the way, one thing we've learned for sure, they've picked every topic but Kev's, which means Lydia was right. No, no, no, listen, listen.

02:33:23 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 5:

No, whatever.

02:33:24 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 4:

No, come on.

02:33:25 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, see?

02:33:26 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right. Back with more Mojo in the Morning coming. I disagree. I'm not.

02:33:33 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 3:

Tap that app. Mojo in the Morning on the iHeartRadio app. Tap that app.

02:33:37 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 4:

Hey, real quick. This weekend's going to be filled with Mojo in the Morning in your neighborhood. If you live in Chelsea, today, Zach is going to be out. Zach, you're at the AT&T store in Chelsea.

02:33:50 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, on Main Street. Make sure you stop by because I have Tiger tickets. Whoa. And you're not going to want to be.

02:33:55 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. That's great. They're hot.

02:33:57 - 02:34:08 | Speaker 4:

So Main Street, what time? From 4 to 6. And if Jeff Daniels shows up, will you get his autograph for him? Yeah. Then tomorrow, Kev, you're out in the morning, right?

02:34:08 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, 10 a.m. to noon. I'll be in Southfield on Greenfield Road. It's the grand opening of the biggest furniture store I've ever seen. 70,000 square feet showroom. It's a square foot showroom. It's the Fifth Avenue Furniture Store. We'll have free food, great giveaways, raffles, and exclusive deals. So come check us out.

02:34:28 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 4:

And then Zach's going to Toledo where our friends at Jay Foster Jewelers are doing Ice in the Ice.

02:34:34 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for a 1.5 carat diamond ring at Hensville. and I'm going to be there from 11 to 1. You're definitely not going to want to miss that. I like that.

02:34:44 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 4:

Hensville is going to be going crazy. Last year when they did it, it was nuts too. So this year, make sure that you get down there, meet Zach from Mojo in the morning. Big Zach. Lydia and Bianca, you're going to be at Lollapalooza.

02:34:56 - 02:34:57 | Unknown:

Y'all.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

And who's in the lineup tonight?

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 2:

Tonight is T-Pain and Olivia Rodrigo.

02:35:02 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 3:

And then tomorrow night?

02:35:04 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be... Doji. I think tomorrow's our... Doji's like the big one. And then Sunday? Sabrina Carpenter.

02:35:09 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 3:

And ASAP Rocky, right? Both of those. Yeah. Which will Rihanna be in the house?

02:35:13 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 2:

Ooh.

02:35:15 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 3:

Will she be there? Mm-hmm. Somebody go look at the four seasons and see if they're in the four seasons. Shannon, the kids are swimming this weekend, right?

02:35:23 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 1:

We've got another weekend, the final weekend of swim finals. So I'll be there all day today and all day tomorrow. And then if you see Smith and I at Katy Perry at LCA on Sunday night, please stop us and say hello because we will be there.

02:35:34 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 3:
