WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:24 - 00:00:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:26 - 00:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Live. Mojo. One girl is back from Lollapalooza.

00:00:56 - 00:01:10 | Speaker 6:

One is taking some well-deserved time off and time away from the one girl who's back from Lollapalooza. We'll talk about that. I guess Lydia and Bianca might have had their fill of each other. Oh, no. We predicted it.

00:01:10 - 00:01:11 | Speaker 4:

No one saw that coming.

00:01:13 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 6:

You know what's funny? I don't know if, Shannon, you have three sisters. Did you have to have a shared room with any of your sisters at all?

00:01:22 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:01:22 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 6:

Growing up? Oh, you're the oldest.

00:01:25 - 00:01:32 | Speaker 2:

No, very luckily, we all had our own rooms always. At our mom's house. At my dad's house, my sister and I did share a bedroom.

00:01:32 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so yeah, so you shared room. My sisters that shared a room, Tracy and Pat, would fight like crazy, but they loved each other like crazy, too, you know? So it's one of those things. I think Bianca and Lydia love the hell out of each other. For sure. But it's just like only in the small doses.

00:01:48 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 5:

I'm probably reading too much into it, but when you said, oh, Shannon, you're the oldest, I feel like I had a little zip to it.

00:01:53 - 00:01:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, because usually the oldest gets, you know, a little bit of...

00:01:57 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 6:

That's not the zip. No, no, he's thinking I was pushing that narrative.

00:02:00 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was a dick? See, I just ignore him with those dicks now. So I didn't even catch that, Kev.

00:02:05 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 6:

That rolls off. Boy, you read into something wrong.

00:02:09 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 5:

No, there's a lot of that going on.

00:02:10 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 6:

You're reading the wrong chapter, my friend. Wrong, wrong, wrong. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So Shannon went to go to Katy Perry last night, took Smith to his first concert. And then Lydia and Bianca went to Lollapalooza. So I figured we'd start talking about the recap of the concerts. Can I start real quick with Bianca? Bianca, you got to see everybody. And boy, our social media blew up from all the stuff you guys were posting.

00:02:38 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 1:

I know. It was actually so crazy. It was actually such a fun experience. I was doing some reflecting on it. And it made me gain like a really big appreciation for music. I'm not going to lie.

00:02:48 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 6:

It's, you know, that outdoor festival that's in Chicago. I know that you didn't get a chance to stay for Sabrina Carpenter. But I saw Lydia's post last night was crazy.

00:02:55 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm so jealous.

00:02:56 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 6:

She brought out Earth, Wind, and Fire.

00:02:58 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Who's that?

00:02:59 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 6:

Well, exactly. Do your Googles. You didn't know. She had no clue. Sabrina knows. There's a song that sings, Do you remember the 21st day of September? Oh, I know that song. Yeah. So they came out. But real quick, I wanted to mention this. It was interesting. There is a guy that I love, Pat Tomasulo. He works for WGN in Chicago. Pat is very funny. He was posting on social media all weekend long how there were too many old people at Lollapalooza and how Lollapalooza started off as something that a bunch of 20-year-olds get to hang out and have fun and how the price of the tickets has gotten to be so expensive that it now no longer can be for them. So he said that he went out there to cover it for their station. He said it was all a bunch of 40-plus-year-olds. And he said that it was crazy. He's like, this is not fun anymore. No. You didn't think so?

00:03:53 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 1:

No, I did not see any old people. Besides one, during Olivia Rodrigo, we were standing in the mosh pit for two hours before her set. And there was a dad, like a 50-year-old dad, standing in there by himself. I'm like, oh, who are you with?

00:04:06 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 6:

It's kind of creepy, isn't it? When he don't know if he's with a kid. He almost has to show that he's with a kid.

00:04:11 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 1:

No, he was with his daughter, but it didn't look like it until I figured it out.

00:04:14 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 2:

Or was it his girlfriend?

00:04:16 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 1:

No, it was his daughter. That's always like a fun age to play that game. No, he said he does it every year with his daughter. It's like, it's like they're bobbing.

00:04:23 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you guys actually talked a little bit. That's cool. Speaking of that, Shannon, you went to Katy Perry last night, which is, was Smith's very first concert you went to?

00:04:30 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was very, very first show. He loves Katy Perry. So that's what, that was one of his birthday presents was tickets to the show last night. And we had such a good time. You guys, and I wish I would have had my phone out when she first came up through the middle of this stage. I thought he was going to have a heart attack. He was like, oh my God, screaming his head off. It was so fun, but you take, you kind of like take for granted the whole concert experience. And he kept looking at me and he was like, mom.

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 5:

I can feel it through my whole body. Wow. Like, it was just, it was really, really fun. He was so excited. His favorite song is Dark Horse, and that was the fourth song she played. So, got that out of the way. I had already looked at the set list and told him we were not staying until the very end because mom needs to go to bed early.

00:05:17 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 3:

Did you leave on the fifth song then?

00:05:19 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 5:

No. There was, like, a middle portion. She calls it Choose Your Own Adventure, where the audience gets to choose a couple of acoustic songs, and I had looked ahead in the set list to go, okay. That's always the worst. Yeah. Who's the songs? Really? Depending on who it is. Depending on who it is. But after that, there were a bunch of songs that I didn't know until the very end when she did Roar and Firework as the last two songs. And so I said, Smith, we'll listen to those ones in the car. Did she fly around? She did a ton of stunts. Okay. Yeah. And her stage was really cool because it was like an infinity symbol. So no matter where you were sitting, and LCA was packed. You got a really good view of where she was.

00:05:57 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 3:

What was your first concert?

00:05:59 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 5:

I think it was Nukas on the Black.

00:06:01 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, where's that coming from? Who's ringing? Is that a ring? I heard it, too.

00:06:07 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

Sorry.

00:06:07 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's on your microphone there. I'm like, I'm dialing somebody up. I don't even know. Colin Smith. What was your first one again? New Kids on the Black?

00:06:17 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 5:

I think I was in second grade, and it was Nukas on the Black. So right around the same time.

00:06:21 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

That's a huge one, by the way, to go to. Because New Kids on the Black were, like, ridiculous at that time.

00:06:27 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 5:

New Kids on the Black birthday party that year, and I'm pretty sure I went to the show.

00:06:30 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 3:

They weren't playing, like, at that time, they weren't playing the Palace. They were playing, like, the Silver Domes and stuff. My first concert was REO Speedwagon, and it was because I grew up in Chicago, and my dad was their doctor. My dad was the doctor for REO Speedwagon and Styx, those two bands. And so my dad would go to the concerts from time to time because a lot of times, like, Kevin Cronin, who was the lead singer of REO Speedwagon, lost his voice. And one time, Dennis DeYoung had the same thing, so my dad had to give him a cortisone shot to help him out. So that was kind of like the first concert. I remember my dad saying, would you like to come with me? And I went to it, and it was like, oh, yeah, I get to go to the thing. What was your first concert?

00:07:13 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

My first concert was Summer Jam, downtown Detroit, Hart Plaza. It wasn't supposed to be my first concert because my cousin brought my friend and I down here to sell waters. and we quickly left the water station and went to the concert. The Lil Jon and Esau boys and Bonecrusher, those were like the big X.

00:07:32 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you were the kid that I see these kids all the time selling like Snickers bars on the side of the road and water. You did that? I was supposed to do that. I always wondered if that was a scam by some guy like Kempin' Out Kids or something.

00:07:44 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes I feel like it is and then sometimes they really do have a football team.

00:07:47 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they do have a football team? Yeah, they're really trying to raise money. Nia, what's happening?

00:07:53 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:07:55 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:07:56 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I just wanted to say that you got the Earth, Wind, and Fire lyric wrong. You said the 21st date of September, but it's the 21st night.

00:08:04 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 4:

I just can't be quiet. Sometimes you just got to let them rock out.

00:08:07 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Actually, the 21st date of September is when my son Joe was born. I became a dad on the September 21st. So that's mine. I sing it. But do you remember, by the way, your first concert? Maybe it was on the 21st day of September or night of September. What was it?

00:08:23 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

um i actually i'm not a big concert person the first time i went to a concert was like three years ago with my friends and i don't know who the artist was really what how old are you

00:08:35 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

21 it's funny you know us you know earth wind and fire but you've never been to a concert you're not

00:08:42 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 5:

a concert person well no she said she went she doesn't remember who she saw yeah the only reason

00:08:47 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 1:

i know earth wind and fire is because it was my mom's uh brother her brother passed away but it It was his favorite group.

00:08:53 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they were great. I love, by the way, my favorite song from them is Led's Groove Tonight.

00:08:59 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I like that one.

00:09:01 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

That's a great song.

00:09:01 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's my favorite. Oh, my God, she knows it. This is unbelievable.

00:09:05 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

You've got to go see Earth, Wind, and Fire. We've got to get her to a concert. Lynn, what was your first concert that you went to?

00:09:13 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Mine was Bon Jovi back at Joe Louis Arena, and I remember it distinctly because I would cry any time I would smell weed.

00:09:24 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? So were there a lot of people smoking the reefer? Smoking the reefer. Oh, yes.

00:09:32 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Too many.

00:09:33 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Bon Jovi, that's a great first concert to go to. That was like one of those concerts where you knew all the songs.

00:09:40 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 2:

It was awesome. I loved it. Went with my cousin and my best friend, and I miss her. She's down in Florida now.

00:09:47 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny, though, now? You don't need to go to concerts to smell the weed. You just go to a BP gas station. Pump your gas. You'll smell it right there. What's going on, Vicky?

00:09:56 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going, guys?

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's happening? We're talking about...

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 4:

how shannon took smith to his very first concert katie perry that is awesome and shannon mentioned

00:10:06 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

that her first concert was new kids on the block yes she was like in second grade uh new kids on the block was also my first but i was 15 so now i feel like really old um okay and also kev you got to be careful with some of those comments under your breath because i say you can all hear too what i said earlier when they were talking earlier when he talked about shannon and her

00:10:29 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 4:

sisters uh yeah you went yeah i forget there's a microphone here no he knows with the microphone

00:10:41 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 3:

what's up rob how you doing amazing uh my first concert was kid rock and foreigner and it was due to you guys i want them off you guys oh that's why by the way kid rock and foreigner

00:10:53 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 4:

There must have been more mullets in that crowd than any other crowd. Am I guessing, right?

00:10:59 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, have a good one.

00:11:00 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, take care. He's got one. Damien, what's going on? Your first concert, Damien, that you went to?

00:11:06 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Mojo? I went to one concert, man, on 23. It was Harry Styles. Whoa!

00:11:13 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 6:

No way. That's a great one.

00:11:14 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's a crazy one.

00:11:16 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 5:

We had our one-night-only tour in New York. and got tickets for $25. Wow, that's awesome.

00:11:54 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:11:56 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen? For Ja Rule and Nelly, this was the year that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiered.

00:12:06 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 1:

My mother has told me in the past that if you fart 12 to 15 times a day, you can lose a lot of weight.

00:12:12 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Melissa McCarthy and Paul Rudd starting This Is 40.

00:12:15 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 1:

He hit my nipple.

00:12:16 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 3:

You what? You're insane. Why would you do that? Did you just touch my mom's nipple? He just touched my nipple. Why would you do that to me? I touched you on the shoulder. I have very high nipples. I touched your shirt. What do you think is under my shirt? I just touched... My breasts are under my shirt. Your shoulder. You just touched my breasts. Your shoulder. Well, that's a funny place to put a shoulder on my shoulder.

00:12:34 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

And the wanted...

00:12:35 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 5:

Right back. You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LINE.

00:12:41 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548. Is this Rob on the phone with us right now? Yes. Hi, Rob. How are you? I'm doing great. Fantastic, Rob. What year was that? 2012. It was, Rob. Congratulations, buddy. Rob's a winner. Rob, we got Nelly and John rolled tickets for you.

00:13:01 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 5:

All right. That was great. I love it. Rob. Murder. It's murder.

00:13:07 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 4:

It's murder. By the way, he actually, to be quite honest with you, makes me think that there would be murder. Rob, hang on the phone. And we're going to set you up with a pair of those tickets. Show is, I think the show is, if I'm not mistaken, the 9th, which is, what is that? What day is the 9th? It's Saturday. Saturday night. Saturday night. Pine Knob. It's going to be fun. And the weather looks good, too. So hang on the phone for just one second. We're going to give you a chance to win tickets to see Tate McRae. That show is the 16th. So there's a lot of shows coming up here in August. It's time to text to win. text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500 for a shot to win. TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500. Standard text and data

00:13:57 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 5:

rates do apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty

00:14:03 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 6:

on the 30. What do you got, Shannon? I saw a lot of people upset about this over the weekend. Ghislaine Maxwell, she is the convicted right-hand woman of Jeffrey Epstein, was transferred to a minimum security prison camp near Houston, Texas, after she met with top Department of Justice officials earlier last week. And remember, she gave them information and a list of like 100 names of people who were involved with Epstein. So the victim's families didn't know about this until they heard about it on the news. So they're calling this preferential and saying we are demanding some more transparency here with what's happening. The facility, by the way, houses a whole bunch of white-collar inmates and offers a very relaxed environment. So it's definitely nicer than where she's been staying. She's going to have lots of activities to choose from every day. And as for rumors of leniency, President Trump says no.

00:15:00 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 2:

pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell has yet been requested. Comedian Matt Reif has become the legal guardian of Ed and Lorraine Warram's famed, I don't even know how to say this, the name of this museum, occult museum and its notorious Annabelle doll. I don't like scary movies. So to me, this is like, I don't know why you would want this stuff, but he purchased this family's Monroe, Connecticut home and museum on Friday. And in doing so, he gained custodianship of over 750 haunted artifacts for the next five years.

00:15:34 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 1:

I have just bought the Ed and Lorraine Warren's home and occult museum with my very good friend Elton Castell. If you guys have ever seen any of the Conjuring films, the Annabelle films, or even Amityville horror, this is the home that inspired all of those stories. Now, I know a lot of you guys don't know what any of this means whatsoever, but if you follow ghost stuff, this is about as big as it gets.

00:15:58 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 2:

So he doesn't technically own all of this stuff. It's more like a lease for five years, I guess. Is that why I understand it? But the museum's been closed. Yeah, it's been closed since before the pandemic. So he's going to reopen it.

00:16:10 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 5:

Like the Halloween, anything associated with it is huge business. And then the paranormals and all that stuff. What's that, Zach Baggins has a huge one in Vegas where he buys weird things and puts them in there. But I haven't seen Matt Reif in a while. He's been so random. It's weird. He was like so mega huge as a comedian for a while. And then I feel like there were some podcast comedians that kind of overtook a little bit of his fame. But I like him a lot.

00:16:46 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Katy Perry's rumored romance with ex-Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau still being talked about. Was he there last night? After they were seen together in Montreal. So everybody kept asking me. He was not at Little Caesars Arena last night.

00:16:58 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 5:

Because I would think that, you know.

00:16:59 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 2:

Her daughter Daisy was there. I did not see Justin Trudeau.

00:17:01 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 5:

Do we believe that that relationship has any legs to it? Or is it just that they had dinner together as friends?

00:17:09 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I don't know. It was dinner, a walk-in, after dinner drinks. Maybe they just had a good night. Yeah. It was a whole day. But, yeah. I saw Orlando Bloom, her ex-fiance, responding to, have you guys ever heard of The Onion? It's like that parody site or whatever. they joked that he was having dinner with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

00:17:30 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 5:

They said that Miss Orlando was?

00:17:32 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 2:

He loved it. He responded to it with like a bunch of clapping emojis. Yeah. That's funny. And South Bend, Indiana, apparently the cleanest city in America, according to a new survey, which examined more than 300 major U.S. cities. San Bernardino, California ranks as the dirtiest. And you know, I'm only talking about this list because one of our listening cities is on it.

00:17:50 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Uh-oh.

00:17:51 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

The cleanest cities, South Bend, Wilmington, North Carolina, Des Moines, there's some other ones on here, Pleasanton, California, okay, whatever. The dirtiest cities, I said San Bernardino came in at number one, L.A. number two, Detroit coming in at number three.

00:18:05 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't believe it. It's the old list.

00:18:08 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 2:

Followed by Ontario, California, Newark, Phoenix, Vegas, and Corona.

00:18:12 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 5:

Eastern Market is not the cleanest area. There's a few carcasses here. I'm not going to lie to you. I've stepped on some crap that I don't know if it was crap or not. Oh, crap. It was bad.

00:18:22 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 2:

00:18:47 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 3:

With Luke Combs. That was a big deal. So good.

00:18:50 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 5:

Such a huge deal.

00:18:50 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be honest. I didn't think Alex Warren sounded that good, though. I think he sounded better on the record than he did live. When he's on the record, he gives me a nice, deeper, raspier. When he was there, he sounded like he was doing falsetto or something.

00:19:03 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. I actually, to be honest with you, think that's 90% of the artists. When I go see them live, I'm going, oh. Like even Bruno. If they're even singing live.

00:19:11 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Bruno's like that. Can I play devil's advocate? Yeah. When you are recording the song, you are standing and not moving. But when you're performing it, you're running all over the stage.

00:19:20 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 2:

And they make you do it 10 times until you get it perfect.

00:19:22 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 5:

That's also true. And you have a lot of auto-tune that helps you with that stuff.

00:19:26 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 2:

That's a lot of great standout.

00:19:27 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 5:

Hey, you know who had a bigger than Lollapalooza weekend? Tell me. Zach Martian.

00:19:33 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what up?

00:19:34 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Zach from our show was hanging out in Toledo, and it was a diamond in the ice. Sorry, is that right? Ice in the ice. Ice in the ice. Yes. So in Jay Foster Jewelers, big sponsor down in Toledo for a kiss. You were hanging out and watching people rub their body parts on ice to try to win a diamond. Yeah, it was amazing. What was the strangest thing? Was it the guy with the thigh or what was it?

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 4:

It was definitely the thigh, and then I saw someone use their forehead.

00:20:03 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 3:

I was like, wow, that's a good technique, but it only lasted five seconds. Were there any frostbitten people afterwards?

00:20:10 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 4:

No, but this guy who came in, he ended up coming in last place, but he felt the tip of the diamond, and then he started rubbing his knuckles and just cut on his whole hand. I was like, oh, that's dedication, though. I love it. Who had the best technique? It was the winner. It was the thighs. The thighs. I was like, that is the way to do it. We've got to think of what's like the warmest area. Yeah, I would have used my armpits or something.

00:20:32 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 3:

I was checking out, and you can see, by the way, on our Facebook and Instagram, Zach put a post up from Saturday. Was it a man rubbing his thighs or a woman rubbing their thighs?

00:20:40 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 4:

It was the woman using her husband's thighs.

00:20:45 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 3:

I think she's doing it twofold. One, he'll never want to have sex ever again because he's going to be in so much pain. And two, she's going to get herself a diamond out of the whole deal. That was cool. That was good to see you out there hosting that thing, doing a great job.

00:20:57 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 4:

It was super fun. And so I just want to take a second to shout out Ohio because they're so nice to me every time I come. So I just want to.

00:21:04 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 3:

Do they know that you're a Michigan Wolverine fan? Actually, are you? I am not. You're not.

00:21:10 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 4:

No. What are you? I'm a scrafter. So like I'm an ocelot in my blood. What are we saying? What are we talking about? So I went to school craft. So I could care less about it. I'm a scrafter. So I'm a ocelot. I've never heard that word before.

00:21:25 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's cool. I have no clue what the hell you just said. Wait, is that the mascot for Schoolcraft or something?

00:21:32 - 00:21:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, an ocelot, which is pretty much a wild cat.

00:21:36 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 3:

Can somebody explain to me why they even have mascots at Schoolcraft? Why not? What is the reasoning? It looks good on a t-shirt. There's no sports team or anything, is there? They don't? They got sports. Yeah, they have sports. Do they have sports? They have soccer and all. Me too. Oh, really? I didn't realize that. All right, well. Ocelot Pro. There you go.

00:21:52 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 2:

Huge egos. I mean, huge ratings in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55.

00:23:12 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area, Anna. You're going to hear nothing, and then you're going to hear a woman with a deep voice by the name of Bianca that is going to talk to you and probably talk your ear off. So hold on one second. Hold on one second. I'm going to lock you up here. All right. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Megan, where are you from? 00:28:00 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Had a great weekend. Thanks for asking. I loved every bit of it. The weather was great. The time spent with friends and family was excellent. And honestly, I'm coming to work in one piece without any kind of needing to go to Michigan orthopedic surgeons. You know what I mean? Safe. I actually feel like I'm good, believe it or not. I did not injure myself this weekend. That is a huge plus. You made it out. Thank you for asking. Nobody's asking. So let me tell you this one. this explain explain to me what you guys think the etiquette is on this one so friday night we went out with a group of people and actually it was a really fun group i think we might have had like maybe 10 or 11 people that all got together we went to a bar drank and then afterwards uh we decided that we were going to take the bar to somebody or the party to somebody's home and so we ended up going to he's got a bar garage it's like the greatest thing ever a garage bar a garage bar basically bar garage yeah your garage bar it works he's got a he's got a bar in his garage okay so we went back to his place and we drank and had fun and we danced and i should be honest with you you saw maybe the video that i posted uh of us dancing to uh to will smith's miami uh together which was fun long story short one of the people that was with us is a very good friend of mine like he's my personal friend he was a guy who i invited to come along with us to this party and when we got to our friend's house we got to uh andrea and ryan's place he was pretty gone like gone to a point that he like put his head down on the table and just kind of sat there for a good period of time the world was spinning yes This is another time it is. Yeah.

00:30:00 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 2:

And I'll be quite honest with you. I didn't think that he drank a whole hell of a lot. But you know what got us? Ocho tequila shots. We were doing shots of tequila. And once you pull out shots and you had been drinking, it does make a difference what you're drinking.

00:30:14 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 3:

The night's done. Tequila. The night's done.

00:30:16 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 2:

Tequila makes the clothes come off and tequila makes your body just, you know, go through weird things. So as we're getting ready to leave and we're getting into our ride home, our responsible ride home, we're walking out of his garage and we're on his driveway. My friend throws up on this driveway.

00:30:41 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:30:42 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 2:

Like literally throws up on driveway and part of house. No. Not the house, though. To a point that let me read you the text message I got on Saturday morning. It was a text message from Ryan who said, someone left their mark. Chelsea responded to this group text. I said, oh, my God, I feel so bad. And he goes, what a rookie. And he had corn for dinner last night. That is disgusting.

00:31:10 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 3:

Thank God it was outside. When you say on house, it was the outside of the house?

00:31:14 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 2:

It was right on the outside of the house, but it was on the outside of the house and part of the garage.

00:31:19 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 1:

I mean, still so incredibly embarrassing. Now, you all saw this happen, but the owners of the house obviously didn't see it happen. So they had to wake up and walk out the next day.

00:31:28 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:31:28 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 1:

Ew.

00:31:29 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 2:

So here's my question for you, because this is my friend. And honestly, I know he feels horrible about it. Because first off, I think he feels horrible in general, because then he's probably got a headache still. It was so bad that I was saying to Chels, I go, you know how when you get to that point, like I did when I fell down the stairs at Harper's, The next day and five or six days later, you almost feel like you want to take back time. You know what I mean? Because it was like one too many or maybe two or three too many.

00:32:00 - 00:32:03 | Speaker 3:

That's when I do the I am never drinking again.

00:32:03 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 1:

And then the next weekend, I'm like, I'm going to have a hot glass of something. We have all been through that. The Lord, if you pull me out of this situation. I will never. I promise you.

00:32:13 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 2:

I will drink water the rest of my life. All right. So here's my question to ask you guys and then listeners too, if you guys can help me with this one. What do you do if you throw up at a friend's house? If you throw up at a friend's house, do you have to be the person to clean up the, the, the mass or do you have to like, do I have to offer? I don't even know who it would be. If I guess if you threw up on the carpet, I know a gopian.

00:32:35 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Are you even in a position to help? If you're at the, some people like I've been in moments in my life where I've thrown up and that sobered me up. Like you throw up and you're like, time to rally. Yeah like I'm good now I'm focused now the room isn't spinning as fast anymore I can lock in if you're in that state of mind yes do everything in your power to clean up your mess but sometimes you're just too faded and like you can't do anything but pass out

00:33:00 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea has said to me numerous times when she's not felt well that that throw up actually made her feel like she could get over this whole thing which is honestly something that I was envious of my friend because I almost wish I had that throw up thing too. It's like a

00:33:16 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 1:

shot of adrenaline. If you see those movies where you literally get shot with and it's like you start charging back up.

00:33:23 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548 Has anybody ever thrown up at a friend's house? And if so, what did you do to make up for that? Because I think they ended up getting a hose out and they cleaned most of it out. But the problem is, if you look at the pictures that I sent you guys, the picture is very fresh concrete that's a driveway stain that's a power washer do you know how fresh how fresh that concrete looks it looks honestly like that concrete is about as clean as can be like you could eat off that you could eat corn off of it

00:34:03 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

the second time i met wes's older sister angie and she lives just outside of toronto we were there and I had been drinking red wine all day and eating very randomly black jelly beans. And I also didn't know that I had norovirus. So the combined of drinking and then all of a sudden that came on and I went in her all white, very teeny tiny bathroom and projectile vomited all over the walls, in the vents, all over the sink and toilet. I couldn't even make it in the toilet and I remember standing there and looking around going oh my god what do I what do I do it was it was dripping down the walls this is not an exaggeration you had an exorcism it was like that and I had to call Wes to come in and they we had to like bleach the whole bathroom it was horrible I was so sick but it

00:35:00 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 1:

was black throw up from a jelly beans black and dark red throw up the worst horrible the worst

00:35:06 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 6:

honestly is the next day wondering what it was that you ate or didn't eat because i believe that it usually comes after you probably didn't have enough food to eat for sure hey tony what's going on how are you i'm good how are you doing sir fantastic tony what do you think do i owe my

00:35:24 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 3:

friends a new driveway you don't know him a new driveway but man your buddy needs to owe them an

00:35:31 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 6:

apology well and he did he apologized he was so he felt so bad about it the problem is in tony there's the thing the problem is i don't think he realized that he got to that point and i think that that's the thing that you know you get that whole i feel so awful type feeling but you don't nobody wants you to feel that way actually those guys were laughing they thought it was kind of

00:35:52 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 3:

funny so have you ever thrown up at a friend's house i did not but uh i moved here recently from new york i was a volunteer fireman back in new york and i was having a party with the guys at the house and i had a friend of mine who was over and yeah he wasn't feeling well and i made the mistake of saying we had a downstairs bathroom but everybody was there i said listen why don't you go use the upstairs bathroom which is off our bedroom yeah and he went up there and i don't know what happened he didn't make it to the bedroom but he decided to open my dresser drawer and

00:36:25 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 6:

throw up in the door oh my god oh my god that's that horrible and then he closed it and never said nothing oh no that's that's not that that's why you moved away from new york isn't it so that

00:36:40 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 5:

you could get away from that guy yeah could you imagine reaching in for a t-shirt

00:36:44 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 6:

or could you imagine not needing a t-shirt for a while and the smell in that room you know what

00:36:53 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 3:

i want to do that's interesting yeah tony this is a great i kept looking in the bathroom going

00:36:59 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 6:

well there's nothing in the bathroom i can't find it this is a great topic i want to know what did you because my friend threw up on their driveway your friend threw up in the uh the the drawer what's the craziest thing that you've thrown up in because everybody has a thing that they'll throw up yeah shannon's thrown up in a couple purses haven't you my poor sister emily i owe

00:37:18 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

her so many purses i went through a phase and that was always the first thing i grabbed

00:37:22 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 5:

after my party that y'all came to last year i was so drunk and i got in the bed and i bought some brand new shoes threw the shoes out of the shoe box and just threw up in the shoe box

00:37:32 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 4:

what's up regina how you doing hey good morning you guys yeah i got sick i got i went to a party and i got sick like i we were you know having a drinking game or whatever um i was in the bathroom and all of a sudden it just kind of hit me that i was done um they to the point where they had to like help me up out the bathroom so they decided to put me in the girl's mother's bed in her bed. Well, she had a water bed. Oh, my gosh. She was a drunk person.

00:38:10 - 00:38:11 | Unknown:

So,

00:38:11 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 4:

the room's spinning and the bed's moving. I leaned over and ended up throwing up over the side of the mom's bed onto the floor to the point where I fell over in the vomit. Oh, my gosh. And the next thing I remember was somebody was changing my pants.

00:38:33 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 6:

They could drive me home. By the way, you're absolutely right. Waterbeds, I don't even think they're around anymore, but waterbeds are horrible after a night of partying. What's going on, Ryan? How you doing?

00:38:45 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 2:

Good, yo.

00:38:46 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 6:

Good. This isn't throwing up, but you had a friend that peed?

00:38:51 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. It wasn't a friend. It was me.

00:38:54 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

00:38:55 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 2:

I like that.

00:38:56 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 6:

And me. And where did you pee?

00:38:57 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 2:

uh so i i went through a really uh bad stage of my life where i i got really drunk and one night i

00:39:05 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 1:

uh decided to just pee in the crisper in the fridge you're you're insane how did you even

00:39:13 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 6:

reach what is a crisper it's no it's down it's in mine it's down low was it a lower one like a oh yeah or was it high yeah it was down low oh see my shannon's thinking you're like shannon's thinking you're like that what is it calvin or whatever that yeah but i think that's because my freezer's on the bottom that's what you put the first vegetables it had to be ice cold that's

00:39:37 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 2:

funny what's going on another night of where i stood up yeah and i just peed on the bed oh the

00:39:44 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 6:

poor guy you're never invited to my parties ryan thank you for calling what's up krista how you

00:39:49 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

doing hello how are you good what's happening not too much i just wanted to share how when i used to drink i would always be founded

00:40:00 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 8:

weird places and one time we were at a friend's parents house a really huge house and we were drinking i disappeared so my friend goes to look for me i'm pulling the dryer door open no i start to sit on it to pee and then she finds me oh god and then i start throwing up on her as she gets

00:40:21 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 9:

me out of the dryer oh you had it both ends that is a friend by the way that's somebody that really cares about you, isn't it?

00:40:30 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 8:

Yes, it is. We grew up together.

00:40:31 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 9:

Oh, that's like a sister for a life after something like that.

00:40:34 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 5:

You're about to pee in my dryer now. How do you even clean that?

00:40:38 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 9:

What would you rather pee in, the dryer or the crisper? I'm going crisper. You just pull and dump. Hold on. Jay says, Jay, you threw up and then passed out in it?

00:40:49 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 6:

Me and my cousin both threw up in a friend of mine's bathroom and passed out in the vomit and we heard her banging on the door so it woke us up and we're both like, don't come in, don't come in. And all of a sudden the door busts open and I just heard her say it like, oh my gosh. You know, I woke up next morning on her couch in somebody else's underwear. Oh, so much. You know what the worst part about that is?

00:41:28 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 7:

That's so gross.

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 7:

00:41:42 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 7:

You let your friend, knowing, threw up, and you didn't even offer to clean it up or rinse it off or even let them know.

00:41:52 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 9:

I was in no condition. and we did not want an overage on our Uber. Is that the worst? That's fair. I know. I was hoping it was going to rain.

00:42:05 - 00:42:06 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:42:06 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 3:

Why isn't he texting me back?

00:43:59 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 9:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Have you ever dated someone just to use them for what they could give you? If you're somebody that is willing to tell us, you're an epic caller for us today. because this next topic is going to require that. Did you ever date somebody for what they do? Kevin, you have a buddy that's currently doing this.

00:44:23 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I ran into somebody who I haven't seen in a while, but we're pretty tight. So when we see each other, we say what's up, we acknowledge, catch up with each other, have these conversations. Now, he used to kind of look like me, zero tattoos, never an ounce of ink on his body. So when I saw him and he had like this cutoff kind of shirt, I started to see tattoos. He's got tattoos, like, all over his chest, his upper arm, like, his bicep from his shoulder down to his elbow on his left side, tatty. So that's one of the first things I recognize. And I tell him, like, bro, what's going on? Like, look at you, tatty dog. He's like, yeah, man, my girlfriend and tattoo artist. I'm like, that's what's up, bro. He's like, but I'm going to break up with her once I get.

00:45:00 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 4:

the sleeve done and i'm like all right wait a second are you like yeah bro i should have been broke up with her but i want to get my tattoos finished so once i knock out this bottom half of this sleeve it's gonna be over for us really so i'm like you using her for your tattoos like

00:45:13 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

i wouldn't call it using oh i would i would too you know what i mean but exactly what that is

00:45:19 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 3:

how how long does it take to get a sleeve do you guys know because i've never i don't have any tattoos like when i see people with like tattoo sleeves and my son joe has one that's a process I think it's like you have to go back for like multiple times.

00:45:34 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Some people stay, though, for like 10 plus hours. Like you see those on TikTok where you can just bang it out in one sitting.

00:45:40 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

You have tattoos, Shannon. How long did it take you to get your tattoos?

00:45:44 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 1:

But mine were both under 10 minutes. Like quick. So quick. Yeah.

00:45:49 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 3:

Like I don't have enough attention to do that. Like I could not do it.

00:45:54 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 4:

You see a lot of these NFL athletes who are now starting to get their entire backs done. Yeah. And they get put to sleep in order for them. Yeah, they get knocked out however they use it. Because does it hurt? I don't know if it hurts, but it probably does. And some body parts I feel like are more sensitive than others. My foot hurt really, really bad. Where is it on your foot?

00:46:12 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 1:

So it's right here. This is my grandma's name on the side of my left foot. And then I have a wrist tattoo, which was easy.

00:46:17 - 00:46:17 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:46:17 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 3:

So what if this girl figures out that they are not together for good purposes? You know, he's only using it and she decides to dump him. Is there another tattoo artist that will take on another person's tattoo? Of course they would. I feel like people would do anything.

00:46:34 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 1:

But at that point, he's already saved hundreds, if not thousands of dollars getting tattoos from her.

00:46:38 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 4:

Would you be petty enough? Say, for example, if you're the girl that's doing the tattoos, would you like sneak your initials in his arm or something or like tattoo?

00:46:47 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, if I was a tattoo artist and I was dating somebody and they had such an extensive tattoo, you'd do it just to say you did it.

00:46:55 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, without even telling them.

00:46:57 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Have you ever dated someone because they...

00:47:04 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Have a discount at your favorite store. Yeah.

00:47:07 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 3:

The best is, you know, during the holidays, right?

00:47:11 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 4:

Or held off the breakup.

00:47:12 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 3:

I want to date the guy or the girl that wears the khakis with the red shirt. at Target, right? Just for their discount. Do they get a discount?

00:47:20 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 4:

Ray Circle? I'm sure they do.

00:47:22 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. That would be interesting. I always wondered sometimes with some of my friends that are in radio that are in relationships, how many people have dated them just for things? You know? Especially some of these ugly night guys that we've had here at the radio station. You know what I mean? It's like, oh my god. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Text is 9-5-5-0-0. Text your hair says that they had a tattoo that was done. It took them three visits of 10 hours apiece. You got to tell me

00:47:58 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 1:

what that was. I'm not surviving that.

00:48:01 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

To me, again, I don't have it. I don't know if I have anything in my life that I love enough to tattoo on my body.

00:48:09 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever consider tattooing your children's names or anything like that on your own?

00:48:12 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 3:

No. I was not, no, because you know what? I don't like my children, so I, no.

00:48:17 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

There are people that, you're just like a tattoo person or you're not. And you've always said you're just not a tattoo person. Chels has tattoos.

00:48:23 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 3:

Chels does. I actually now become more where I would think about a tattoo. Like, I would think about doing a tattoo, like, I love Chelsea. One of my favorite tattoos of Chelsea is the dates of the boy's birth that is on her back. And I love that. Yeah. That's a cool tattoo. And then she's got a son with, you know, the three on there. So for her three sons, I'm trying to, oh, trip to Florida. Let me tease this while we're hoping that people will give us a call. And our texters coming in here right now, see if they did somebody for something. Our trip to Florida, we're going to pick a grand prize winner from Friday's qualifiers. And then this morning on the show, we're going to start qualifying you again at 730. for a trip to go to florida and this week and i think the entire month we're actually doing uh trips to clearwater beach which beautiful clearwater beach uh especially when the weather gets crappy here so you'll have a chance to use that trip and be able to use uh you know it uh as an opportunity to you know get out of the crappiness what's up to sean what's going on It doesn't surprise me, Deshaun, that you dated somebody to use them for whatever they had. How are you?

00:49:41 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, one of them, my wife, I married her when she was working at Best Buy. There you go.

00:49:47 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 1:

What was her discount like?

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, she worked at Best Buy, so I was never getting hooked up on Playtex controllers and stuff like that. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. But a long, long time ago.

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 1:

You know, Kev, you got to feel me on this. You need a girl that worked at Foot Locker, man. All the discounts on the Jordans. All the discounts on the Jordans, man. I know I'm a misser, but I'm just saying. You got to get you one that worked at Foot Locker.

00:50:15 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, or at least hold the shoes for you and your size on them release days when you know they're going to sell out.

00:50:21 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, absolutely. And you get that 20% girl discount. Lovely.

00:50:25 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 2:

Lovely. Deshaun, it's good to talk to you, buddy. It's been a minute. What's going on, Amanda? How you doing?

00:50:32 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:50:34 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:50:36 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 7:

I was never in a relationship with this person, but I do have a tattoo of a table lamp.

00:50:41 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? A table lamp. What's the significance of that?

00:50:46 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 7:

I don't know what I was thinking of it. I don't talk to her anymore. That might be the most random tattoo I've ever heard.

00:50:54 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 2:

How long did it take for a table lamp to be tattooed on your body?

00:50:57 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 7:

well it's on my foot so it hurt a lot probably like two hours man but can my aunt say hi to you guys yes she's a big fan she's here with me what's her name okay

00:52:28 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

00:52:41 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 5:

breaking up with me just because i kind of the relationship was going nowhere and he knew it was going nowhere so did i and i just kind of it fizzled out and we stopped talking for a little while and he was like yeah i think we're done and i'm like yeah we were supposed to be done a long time ago well are you in a better place now i hope oh way better place i'm engaged we have a home we bought together life is wonderful good that's awesome that's a great story uh poker

00:53:11 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Who did you date for something?

00:53:14 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 3:

I dated a bartender for a while. Let me guess.

00:53:19 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 2:

Free drinks?

00:53:20 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, the first night she says, hey, come up and say hi to me. And so I go up there. And I was young. I was only 21. She was probably 35. I like it. When I get to the bar, the owner of the bar, it was a little dive bar in Toledo. So when I get to the bar, the owner says, all right, looks like you got a friend here. I'm going to get out of here. So I closed the bar down with her. And then she invited me back like four or five straight weeks. So I said, well, I guess I got to take one for the team. She was ugly.

00:53:59 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Zach, hi. She looked like Captain Morgan. What's going on, Zach? Hey, what did you date somebody for?

00:54:06 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

I dated this girl. she worked at Inverness at the private golf club.

00:54:12 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 2:

Gorgeous club, yeah.

00:54:14 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. And she was able to play on Mondays because they're closed on Mondays.

00:54:19 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 2:

So that was the reason? You did it to be able to golf in a PGA U.S. Open club?

00:54:27 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was awesome.

00:54:28 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 7:

How long did that relationship last?

00:54:32 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 4:

Until the winter? About two months. Yeah, until the summer.

00:54:36 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the call season was over. Kayla, your voice is actually, is your real name Kayla, and we're calling you Kayla in your voices, guys? Yeah. We should be using an initial on this one. This is Bianca doing the calls today. Bianca, we got an initial K. What did you date somebody for?

That's right. You put it out there, you're going to get it.

00:58:05 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I'd like to put into the universe ham and egg omelet with hash browns well done. Janet, you want anything? I mean, that sounds pretty good. I think I'm going to order breakfast. I'm more of a veggie omelet person. Wait, listen to what happened to me this morning. I went to Starbucks in Southfield on my way into work, the one over off of Franklin Road in Northwestern Highway. And I ordered egg white bites, which I order every single morning. They told me that it takes them some time to heat up their oven. And I said, how long does it take? They said three minutes. So I said, okay, I'll wait. I waited about 15 minutes. And then I went in, and they go, yeah, it's going to take us three minutes to heat up the oven. I go, I've been waiting 15 minutes for you to heat up the oven. They're like, well, it's kind of early. So I am starving right now, and I'm hungry. So I need some food. So if somebody's listening. Yeah. I like that word. Actually, no, I'm not really famished. I can go probably another couple hours. But I'm going to order from, I think, Louie and what's the hell that place called?

00:59:06 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, right next to us, right here.

00:59:08 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

Louie's pork and sausage or something like that. Oh, you're going pork and sausage. No, it's a, oh, Louie's ham and corned beef. I'm going to order some breakfast here in a second. If anybody wants anything.

00:59:19 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:22 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what's in the Dirty on the 30?

00:59:23 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I saw this trending over the weekend. Jelly Roll making his WWE debut, in-ring debut. And he was teaming up with Randy Orton to battle Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, one of my least favorite people ever, at SummerSlam. Hey, what did Logan do? 2025.

00:59:40 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 2:

Here's your viral moment, everyone. And a splash!

00:59:47 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 3:

He got a splash! Can you imagine if Jelly Roll was the guy doing the body slamming?

00:59:52 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 4:

It's like crime everywhere. I didn't realize Jelly Roll was such a huge wrestling fan. And he... Oh, who was that? I feel like everybody. He has...

01:00:00 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 1:

been training rigorously for this match um and you know he lost 230 pounds and this was this was part of it his training for this was part of that hey what's up y'all this is jelly roll and you're

01:00:12 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 4:

listening to mojo in the morning you know what's amazing usually you do this after your career is over with you don't do it while you're doing your career all of a sudden you know usually you become i guess what like the rock remember the rock became uh he was a college football player became I'm a wrestler. Jelly Roll, I could see, like, being the undertaker or something like that. Yeah. He could be like. He fits the part. He does. He looks like a professional wrestler, doesn't he? I didn't see many moves on him. I just saw him getting smashed by Logan. I don't know how he does. Yeah, got to see him in the ring.

01:00:45 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 1:

President Trump says he is willing to release everything the government has on Jeffrey Epstein, but he said we need to take caution with it.

01:00:56 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 3:

I want to release everything. I just don't want people to get hurt. The files were run by some very bad people and very sick people like Comey and Lisa, the whole group, you know, all those people in that office. They ran those files for four years. And if they were going to use the files, they would have used it before my election, because unless they're stupid, which to a certain extent they are stupid.

01:01:17 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 1:

He acknowledged all of the ongoing legal efforts to unseal Epstein-related documents, including the grand jury transcripts and courtroom filings, despite prior Department of Justice resistance. And then he was doing this interview on Air Force One, so they were, like, you know, talking to him about a whole bunch of stuff. They switched gears and started talking about a possible pardon for Diddy. And in the process, the president called Diddy, quote-unquote, half-innocent. Listen to this.

01:01:42 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 4:

Would you consider pardoning him?

01:01:43 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, he was essentially, I guess, sort of half-innocent. Yes. I don't know what they do. He's still in jail or something. He was celebrating a victory, but he seems, I guess it wasn't as good as a victory. Probably, you know, I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great and seemed like a nice guy. I didn't know him well. But when I ran for office, he was very hostile. He said some not so nice things about you, sir. and it's hard you know um like you were human beings right it's and we don't like to have things cloud our judgment right but when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements so i don't know it's it's more difficult it makes it more i'm being honest it makes it more difficult to do but more likely a no for combs it sounds

01:02:39 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 4:

It's like, okay.

01:02:40 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning has tremendous ratings. That I can tell you. But they're not as tremendous as mine.

01:02:47 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of Diddy, by the way. Eric's so dead on. He's incredible, bro.

01:02:51 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 1:

I need more Elon from him. That day, his Elon was so good. His Caitlyn Jenner is still my favorite. Going back to Diddy, Gina Hunt is known in court, known to all of us as victim number three. I don't believe they used her name. But she was one who accused Diddy of severe abuse during their relationship, including an incident where she claims he stomped on her stomach. She just over the weekend wrote a letter to the judge requesting that Diddy be released before his sentencing on October 3rd. So she's really changed her tune here. Why? Interesting. She didn't pay off? Well, she writes that he has not been violent for many, many years. She said she called him a changed man committed to fatherhood. She said she does not view him as a danger to the public or community and urged the court to allow him bond so he can support his family. So now, again, Diddy's legal team is pushing for a new bail request with a $50 million bond. And they're saying he can sit his butt at his home in Miami. Just let him be home until this October 3rd sentence.

01:03:53 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 4:

I want an audit of her bank account.

01:03:55 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 1:

uh and lastly and just like that the sequel to sex in the city is coming to an end after the third season concludes the finale going to be split into two episodes with the last one scheduled to drop on august 14th sarah jessica parker who plays the iconic carrie bradshaw carrie bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all. I was such a huge Sex and the City fan, and I could not get into this show.

01:04:30 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 4:

This show's awful. I couldn't do it. They tried too hard. Like, anytime you do stupid writing, like, it used to be that that show was one of those shows that was cutting edge. Sex and the City was very brilliantly written. It was, you set trends. Now they're just talking about trends. And their stuff that they're talking about is stupid. So no fourth season. Sad. That's it. Hey, for everything you missed

01:04:52 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 1:

Auto Second Date Update. At 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:06:40 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 2:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon says that she did something this past weekend where she had to sneak alcohol in. And this could be kind of a fun little thing to find out how our listeners have done this. What is the best way to sneak alcohol into something? and what alcohol is the easiest to sneak? I feel like you're going back to your high school roots where you would take a water bottle and throw vodka in it.

01:07:06 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 1:

I didn't drink in high school, but yeah.

01:07:09 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

You were a goody-goody. I was a goody-goody. Now as a grown mother, you've turned into a bad person.

01:07:14 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, this past weekend was all-day swim meets, Friday and Saturday for my little Smith. And so I knew the days were going to be long. And these swim meets are a big deal. I mean, they're a party. It's so much fun for the kids and the families and stuff. Well, I am not a member of any of the clubs that we're putting on this swim meet. Smith's dad is. And so I knew going into the weekend that I was not going to be able to get any sort of cocktail, wine, whatever the heck I wanted. because I am not a member and therefore don't have a member number, I guess you would say, where I could sign off on ordering anything. So I was like, all right, I mean, I'm going to be there for like eight hours each day. And it's a slightly uncomfortable situation anyway, like going into this, you know, and I kind of sort of feel like I don't belong because I'm not a member. And so I'm like, I need to bring something with me. So I put high noons in the bottom of my purse underneath all the kids' changes of clothes and brought them in.

01:08:24 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Do you know if the place that they were having it at serves high noons?

01:08:28 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm sitting in the bleachers the first day, and I'm like, I want one of the high noons so bad. So I look around as I crack it open, and I see somebody else with a high noon. And so I thought, okay, good. This means nobody's going to come up to me and say, where did you get that from? They must have been selling them somewhere there.

01:08:48 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 3:

Unless they aren't members either. But mine was free.

01:08:53 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 2:

I used to remember when Luke was doing travel baseball, Chelsea and the other moms would all just have all their team Yetis there.

01:09:03 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, for sure. There were so many people with Yetis, and I'm like, that's not coffee.

01:09:07 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 2:

You bring the Yetis in, and you know what? That's like right there. It's guaranteed. Do they check you at these things? Could you bring a cooler if you wanted to?

01:09:16 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think you could bring a cooler. I didn't know if they were going to check or not. So I was kind of prepared to lose the high noons. But then for the second day, because I knew that they weren't going to check, I was like, game on.

01:09:27 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 2:

So they're not winding you at the door, like security or something like that? No.

01:09:31 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 3:

I had somebody think that I brought alcohol at an event at this new furniture store, Fifth Avenue. And lately, because I have a terrible immune system, I've been using these emergency powder packets and pouring them into my water. Yeah. And that's what I used to drink. So when I roll up with a water bottle, that's all orange. And they're like, is that a mimosa? No, it's emergency. Trust me. You want to smell it?

01:09:53 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My favorite is when you go golfing and and you want drinks and you go to a place that you. not necessarily know you're going to get good drinks like uh the oakland county uh has like their their parks golf courses that are there and there's one place i love to golf at it's called white lake oaks it's in waterford and you bring your big old yeti that's out there and you think that you're being sly sneaking it in there and then you see a dude with one of those um god what the hell is it uh the the shots uh that's cinnamony why am i oh fireball yeah he's got a fireball keg oh yeah literally a guy with a he it's him and he's got a group of guys they got two foursomes and they're celebrating a bachelor party and they had a fireball keg in the back area where you like stick your golf balls and stuff like that on the uh on the golf cart i'm

01:10:47 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 1:

like you guys are professionals we always sneak in the little plastic mini bottles of fireball to Pie Knob. My girlfriends will just put them around their socks and the plastic ones, nothing like they never catch them.

01:10:59 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Is this Kenyatta working the line? Good morning. Kenyatta, where do you sneak in? And what do you sneak it in?

01:11:11 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 5:

You got a sneak shot bottle of Hennessy in your bra. In your bra. The nipples look a little harder today. It's Hennessy.

01:11:19 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 6:

You put it up under it They can't even feel Under the underbelly

01:11:26 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't even have any belly It pays to have big movies That's right It's a double shot What's going on Emily how you doing

01:11:36 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 6:

I'm good how are you guys

01:11:39 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic Emily where do you sneak drinks in

01:11:41 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 6:

So I learned through a Facebook group That I'm in called the Disney Day Drinkers Club That you can buy fake umbrellas on Amazon and sneak stuff into the parks because Magic Kingdom is a dry park. So I snuck vodka into Magic Kingdom one time at a fake umbrella. Oh my god, that's Happy Gilmore too right there. Literally, literally.

01:12:02 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 2:

That is... I needed

01:12:03 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 6:

a little bit of stuff with my lemonade. I couldn't help it. You know what's so funny?

01:12:07 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 1:

Magic Kingdom is a dry park, but you can drink at Epcot and at Hollywood Studios. Yeah.

01:12:15 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 6:

The only place that you can actually drink the only place that you can drink alcohol in Magic Kingdom is sit-down restaurants. That's the only place that you can do it.

01:12:22 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's interesting. You bought the magic. I like that, though. I like the umbrella. It's a sunny day. Why are you ringing your umbrella? What's going on, April? How you doing?

01:12:31 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's going on? I'm a little tired from the Katy Perry concert last night. Oh, it was good. But we're hanging in there. You went, too? Yeah, yeah, definitely went, too. But that's one of the places that next time I go somewhere, I will be sneaking in alcohol because it is insane how much it costs just for $34 for one double drink.

01:12:54 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Wow. Have you ever been good at sneaking drinks? Where have you snuck drinks before?

01:13:00 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 4:

You can do them. I'm a baseball mom, so we're always at the baseball field. Oh, my God, yeah. I definitely have one cup full of water and the other one full of Crayon. You know, you've got to keep it classy.

01:13:11 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

You've just got to be careful that your kids aren't going to get your water. Right.

01:13:15 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

No, they don't have their own. We don't share. I have teenagers. I'm not sharing with them.

01:13:20 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's up, David? How you doing?

01:13:24 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm always amazed at the ladies that are kind of heavy-chested, and they go to the festivals, and they're just pulling full bottles of Jack after bottle after bottle. It's like Houdini. How many is in there?

01:13:38 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 2:

It is. It's a magic trick, total magic trick in there. Sarah, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you?

01:13:44 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good

01:13:46 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 2:

You got a good piece of advice for Shannon Next time she wants to sneak any alcohol Into the swim finals

01:13:52 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can get the tester tubes Like off of Amazon And you just Open up a tampon wrapper Take the tampon out Pop them in the tampon wrapper And go about your day

01:14:05 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, you got little shots Tester tubes By the way, it's only a little shot in there So you're putting some hard ass stuff inside that thing Aren't you? Oh, yeah. That's what the strippers use. By the way, just so you know, you're like the fourth person that has said that you do that in tampon wrappers. All these people are texting in right now, fake tampons. I get two to three shots in there. Another person here, hey, Shannon, you should bring fake tampons in. Just go to the bathroom and grab drinks. That's when you know you're an alcoholic, when you're going to a bathroom to sneak drinks. I hate to say it. It doesn't look good. It's not a good look. Bill, people like to sneak through TSA security. Are you one of those people?

01:14:48 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

It's actually not even sneaking. If you look at the TSA rules, you're allowed to carry as many products as you can put in a one-port plastic bag. So you put your minis in a plastic bag.

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 2:

Bag, one quart bag, seal them up, you're good to go. Hey, I thought you weren't allowed to bring in alcohol.

01:15:04 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can't bring your own alcohol on a flight, though. No. On a flight, you can't. Yeah. But through TSA, you can't. But they say drink it up before you get on a flight in the terminal. Well, that's on you, but. Yeah. Wow.

01:15:18 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even think you could bring it through TSA.

01:15:20 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Kelly?

01:15:23 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how are you?

01:15:24 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Good. We're talking about sneaking alcohol. Where did you sneak alcohol?

01:15:28 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 6:

alcohol uh we used to all the time sneak alcohol in the flat type brushes and you tie a couple hair ties around it to make it look like a real brush oh my gosh that is hysterical this is

01:15:41 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 5:

priceless by the way information next time that you want to bring alcohol to any like family picnic or your aunt's house that doesn't like to drink you start bringing all this stuff in Why do you have so many tampons and hairbrushes? Hannah sneaks it under her dress. Where are you putting it, Hannah?

01:16:01 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 6:

Uh-oh. Grand Canyon. Well, when you have a Thunder Thighs, you wear those shorts with pockets, and you put those little bottles in there. Oh, my gosh. That's very smart. In the thighs? With the pockets. On, like, the little biker shirt. Oh, the side. Yes.

01:16:18 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 4:

I thought she had thighs.

01:16:19 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you, Hannah, I had the worst thoughts before I picked up your phone call.

01:16:23 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 2:

When you intro'd her. Me too.

01:16:26 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny? My sister, I think I've told this story a bajillion times on the air. My sister used to manage all the Lane Bryants. Shut up, Lane Bryants. The women's clothing store. And she said women would come in and steal clothing, putting them in their vagina.

01:16:39 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:16:40 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 5:

And I'm like, that's got to be a really either clean vagina or dirty pair of clothes.

01:16:46 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Could have been the washing machine. Why?

01:16:48 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 5:

Gina, what's going on?

01:16:50 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, so someone mentioned that they take their tampon wrappers and put them on a tube, but they actually sell something like that on Amazon, their tampon flasks.

01:16:59 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. We got to get you a flask, Shannon. A tampon flask. A tampon flask. You know what's funny? I got my first flask ever, like, in the last week or so, and they gave it to me when I went on that bourbon trip down in Louisville, and it's a very cool one. It's a Buffalo Trace flask. Okay. And I'll be quite honest with you, I feel kind of like I'm a little, like, edgy with a flask. You know what I mean? Like, I've never had a flask before. But I want to do it where I drink it and I pull it out and go, drink from the side. Please don't do it like that. You know? You got to do the side drinking. Lennon, the people over at the Imagine Theaters aren't going to be happy with you after you say this call. What's up?

01:17:36 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I actually used to work at a local movie theater, so I know all the tricks of how to sneak things in. But taking little tiny Pyrex containers and filling them with, like, shots of rum or whatever, and then I'll order, like, a large Coke, pour it in, it's perfect.

01:17:54 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 5:

Wow. The Capri Suns are good enough. Why do we need to put alcohol in the Capri Suns? It's so funny being in the movies and you hear somebody opening up a can of pop. Yeah. You hear the... You didn't buy that. Who's bringing Pyrex containers to a movie theater?

01:18:11 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 2:

I know, and then you're stuck with it. Oh, she won't eat her chicken. They let you bring... You just put it back in your purse. They're small enough.

01:18:16 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 5:

They let you bring Pyrex containers to a movie theater? I would think that would be the...

01:18:20 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 2:

I mean, nobody checks your purse.

01:18:21 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 5:

That would be the clear giveaway.

01:18:23 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 2:

Remember they used to... Like, back in the day, they used to check what you brought in, and they don't anymore.

01:18:27 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 5:

That's why you put it on your keys. Shannon, you need to be... You need to be listening to country music, because Cody's got a good idea for you. What's that, Cody?

01:18:35 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 6:

Put them in your cowboy boots. Even the short ones. They fit those little tiny bottles pretty well. Oh, yeah.

01:18:41 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 5:

Cowboy boots. You just throw them in the boots there. The boots aren't uncomfortable enough as it is. You got to actually have drinks inside of there.

01:18:49 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 2:

You're gobbling a little bit until you take them out.

01:18:51 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And, man, now we're getting full-on alcoholic here. Brendan, what's going on?

01:18:58 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 3:

My grandparents would put alcohol in mouthwash bottles to get it through TSA on the plane. Grandma.

01:19:06 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 5:

Grandma knows what he's doing. Is Grandma just cheap, or is she literally like a wino?

01:19:13 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 3:

My grandpa was a financial insurance agent, so he took any way to save money.

01:19:19 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's cool. Grandma in the Listerine. I like that. I just started drinking Listerine instead.

01:19:26 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

It just tastes as good. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. this is mojo in the morning oh mojo he's he's amazing live mojo let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening

Yesterday was a day that happens every single year, obviously, August the 3rd. But it also is a day that has a lot of meaning to me because back on August the 3rd, when I was 14 years old was the day that my mom died uh so yesterday was the uh what do they call it on Facebook when people shout out their birth or the the their the the death anniversary or birthday death birthday or something like that people like will throw that out there you ever see that on social media when people do that yeah I didn't know I had a name though they'll like post something they'll put a post up there and my sister kind of shared a post with a picture of my mom which was sweet that i put on my personal thing but um angelversary yeah i think that's it something like heavenly birthday or heavenly no i don't know i don't know what it is but it was the day that she she died and i don't know if you guys have any uh like really vivid memories from your childhood that are not the greatest of memories but one of the most vivid memories that i have is the day that my mom passed away and it was so wild i was telling chelsea about it yesterday that um i will never forget that my mom uh died on that day and august 3rd kind of has like some special meaning to me because it was a day where for a woman who battled cancer for like six years i felt like she finally wasn't in pain anymore so with that said i wanted to kind of share with you guys this vivid memory that I had. And then I wanted to ask you guys in the listeners, what is like the most vivid memory that you have that maybe is not the greatest thing that you have

01:23:00 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

from your childhood growing up in your childhood? And I think that by doing some, so in sharing it might give you a little bit of comfort and, and, you know, we can be able to, to support you on this. I remember waking up that morning and I woke up to knowing that my mom died. I woke up to my sisters crying, my sister, Pat and Pat howling and crying and, you know, saying that, uh, you know, she didn't want my mom to die and was, Oh my God, why did God do this? And all that stuff. And I remember it so like it was yesterday that that happened, even though it was so many years ago decades ago that this happened that i was 14 years old that it happened and the wildest thing is it really wasn't only until a couple three years ago that i realized that my mom knew she was going to die because the night before she um had everybody come to her room and spend one-on-one time with her was she at home she was at home yeah she died at home which was honestly a good thing and a bad thing it was a great thing because i think that's where she wanted to die it was a bad thing because it gave me then forever the memories that my mom passed at this house um i didn't realize until just a couple of years ago that she and her heart of hearts knew that the end was near because she with each and every one of my brothers and sisters and there was total of six of us she had each of us spend an hour or so with her and it was wild like sit there and think about it that i had no idea even five ten years 20 years later after she died that that's what she was doing do you remember what she talked to you about specifically um it's funny because she came to me in a dream just the other day which is so weird because it

01:25:00 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 2:

was right around this time and she said to me in the dream um that everything was going to be okay and that's what she said to me and she did say something that really holds true and i tried to do this without crying but i knew i couldn't do it without crying um she said to me she said all you will have all you can have in your life or all you will have in your life that nobody could ever take away from you is your faith and all she asked was that i continued to have faith in god because she knew where she was going to be and honestly i i think that was the greatest blessing that i could have ever gotten besides obviously the blessing of life uh from her but um

01:25:48 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 1:

but it was wild and it's when you wake up on the morning of august or every year like this is

01:25:52 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 2:

it just hits you. Yeah. Chelsea actually, and I had this conversation. Sometimes she doesn't want to ever remind me that that's the day. And there are, there are times where I totally forget that it's August 3rd, like, Oh, it's August 3rd. Like you forget days. Cause summertime is one of those things where you realize, um, but you know, I like to be remembered by it, even though it does make me a little sad and depressed, but that's also, honestly, it makes me happy. Um, because i believe that she's in you know in heaven so do you uh sorry yeah hi zach

01:26:27 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 4:

like a press conference state your name and what organization you're from hello zach i heart media um so i also lost my mom at a young age um i don't look forward to i have a death date of her as well it's march 6th but like my i know subconsciously that it's coming up even though i don't know the date and people around me know like how i feel so for example this year my sister uh said hey you're being kind of a dick what's going on and then i realized that it's my mom's like that date coming up so do you ever feel that way like subconsciously yeah you know it's coming

01:27:08 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

up so that's the reason one of the reasons why chelsea doesn't want to remind me sometimes and i think the reason she doesn't want to remind me is that she knows that it it hits hard it lands hard right you know absolutely and you've you uh your mood definitely changes it makes you depressed makes you angry you know do you remember when when your mom actually died on that day yeah uh like

01:27:31 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 4:

you said it's kind of a vivid vivid memory um i i didn't get to say goodbye to her um i they kind of uh distracted me like you know they they took me downstairs and stuff and uh like go through um like the gift shop because i thought i had more time and uh when i got back upstairs they you know she had passed yeah and um i think about it often and i went through a lot of therapy saying like i didn't have my time but i think she said goodbye before she actually did in her own

01:28:05 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 1:

way just like kind of and maybe she didn't want you to see that moment yeah and remember that

01:28:10 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 4:

moment and i think that's what it is too yeah yeah since it's like sorry um don't be sorry were you were you 12 or 13 how old are you i was yeah 12 yeah and um yeah it's just i i know exactly how you're feeling man it's not um you know what's weird

01:28:31 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 2:

zach is that uh you know both our moms were battlers and and you know and suffered uh you know a lot um i remember after my mom died my butt my best buddies in the world brian and brad and tom came over to my house steve came over they came over to my sisters called them to like distract me we played baseball and stuff like that it's wild because brad and i were talking about this the other day he was like i didn't even realize what was going on because we never experienced death before you know we were so young and um i remember like playing and hanging out with them and having fun and laughing afterwards yeah and do you remember the gift shop like do you remember that gift shop like it was yesterday yeah and i remember again like after

01:29:19 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 4:

everything happened i remember like having fun with family and like hanging out my seventh grade teachers happened to come by the house like when we were having like a lunch party and whatever and it wasn't until like the week after it finally settled in yeah and it's wild too because when you

01:29:36 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 2:

have teachers that come to your house you're you feel special don't you yeah it was cool also weird

01:29:40 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 3:

i was like you guys live like outside of the school yeah what yeah but you know it's wild

01:29:46 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 2:

and this is you know it's been uh such a long time for me and yours has been less because you're a younger guy than i am and stuff every year you'll remember something differently yeah you know but

01:29:58 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

It's weird how they happen. It is in the, in the, one of the weirdest things of losing like a parent like this was, um, I lost my dad later and I was actually more prepared to lose my dad. Um, I remember him passing because I actually was there when he passed, you know, he was in a hospice and, uh, I watched him take his last breaths and it's wild to sit there and think that, um, that's it, you know, that's just, it's just crazy but we have to believe that you know that hopefully there's some great place that we're gonna all see each other and they're watching over us yeah and i like that to say

01:30:38 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 3:

that they come to our dreams like what happened to you which is awesome do you get mom in your dreams um not so much my mom it's more my grandparents really it's kind of cool yeah

01:30:47 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 4:

that's cool that's awesome shane are you there hey how you doing okay shane how you doing buddy i i I don't want to be morbid at all, but I just feel like, honestly, this is, you know, it was such a big day yesterday. And I think that a lot of people have shares some of their loss. Sometimes it makes you feel better.

01:31:05 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Well, first, first time, long time. Yes. So when I was eight, I lost my dad to leukemia. He was battling for about two years. And during those two, they found it because a semi hit my mom and my dad on a motorcycle. So we were in and out of the hospital for those two years. And I don't really remember too much of that part of my life. And then the last, I would say, two weeks before he passed, we brought him home just because the hospital, he wasn't getting better and he wanted to be with family and friends. so those uh that first those two weeks it was kind of like a little party at my house every single day because we had so many people there and I was I was actually kind of having fun you know just why are all these people here and then um weird the day he passed I remember playing foosball and someone ran downstairs and um they came and got us and we went upstairs and uh he was just yeah just gone and it was as an eight-year-old I didn't really comprehend what was going on either because just like you know just my dad and uh it's isn't it wild to sit there

01:32:23 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 4:

and tell us that story and you're so vivid with the story that you're telling because it's like it feels like it was yesterday and it's something you'll never forget you know no and um miss them

01:32:35 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 2:

a lot and it's just it sucks because i'm getting married here soon and uh wanting to have kids and you know, and it made me really start being eight years old and having my dad passed away. It made me really want to be a dad, you know, be that dad that I never had. So that's what I'm hoping for.

01:32:52 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 4:

That's powerful, Shane. Congratulations. You know what you need to have at your wedding is a foosball table. I know it sounds weird. No, that is so meaningful. Every time I play catch or, you know, doing anything back baseball with my kids, it reminds me of that day that it just brings back

01:33:09 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 1:

memories uh jennifer hi what's happening hey good morning uh love you mojo love you uh zach i know how hard this is um so my dad had cancer for two years before he passed and two weeks before he passed away he was in the hospital and he had pneumonia and i didn't know the extent of everything because when i would go visit him the nurses were done like you know and their nurse's station and it was late and I was only visiting him for a little bit of time like after work so I didn't know that he was there for more than just the pneumonia because he wouldn't tell me anything and he checked himself out of the hospital a week before he passed and he was on home hospice and then recently my sister and I found his discharge papers from the hospital and he was septic and he knew he was going to pass and he didn't want to pass in the hospital and he wanted to pass at home so he checked himself out of the hospital and I remember picking him up like aren't you supposed to still be on antibiotics and he was like I'm getting them he was so stubborn he was like I'm getting them to go I'm gonna take them at home don't worry about it i just don't want to be here anymore i don't want to be stuck in the hospital oh my gosh just to protect him and yeah he had he he knew and he he passed at home and i missed it though my sister was there with him because uh we were taking like shifts with him um during his last week but yeah i didn't get to say goodbye remember the last good conversation though you had with him

01:34:56 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 4:

or the good thing you guys talked about?

01:34:59 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Um,

01:35:00 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 4:

So his last week, he was like kind of comatose, and I just held his hand, and I made a playlist on Spotify of like all of his favorite music, and I just laid in bed with him, and I played his favorite music.

01:35:15 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 3:

That's special. That is beautiful. Keep that playlist. Yeah. What a playlist.

01:35:19 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 4:

No, I do. Yeah, I listen all the time, because it's like 70s, and like Elton John, and Bob Seger, and stuff like that. So, yeah.

01:35:28 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 3:

No, that's cool. it's wild how a song reminds you for some reason my mom loved that Whitney Houston song The Greatest Love of All and anytime I hear that song you know you go holy crap

01:35:40 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 1:

don't you take that as your mom like saying hi

01:35:42 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 3:

believe me and there's some moments in your life where you kind of like go I'm going to listen to it because I want to have a good moment you know to remember her Courtney what's happening it's Mojo in the morning we're just a bunch of blubbering idiots Courtney what's going on

01:35:58 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, good morning. First off, my hearts go out to you and Zach. The fact that you guys can share this with people is just truly a blessing. So when I was younger, my grandma died when I was very, very young. And I remember the smell of plastic because she always had oxygen on. So when I would kiss her, it would smell like plastic. And it's one of those things that you like don't really tell people because you're like, it's a weird thing to remember that and make that connection with your grandma and then I had a friend reach out to me and they convinced me to see a medium and I'm not really I was not like a I don't know believer in mediums like I was skeptic and I'm like I don't really know if this is something that I would be interested in so I tried it and she actually brought up and she asked me what is up with the smell of plastic because I still randomly smell it and um I would randomly smell it all throughout my life it's like i would just be doing anything and it's like i just randomly get this smell and she asked me what is it with the smell of plastic because she's telling me that's a sign from her yeah and i just lost it at that point because it's not something i share with people because just it's a weird connection to think of plastic and think of your grandma but it's like that

01:37:07 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 3:

plastic hospital brings you right back isn't it crazy to think like you know i think about you with grandma and i think about zach with his mom because your mom had to have you know things to help her to live oxygen help her live my mom too and it just became part of her normal life like i remember you know it's like helping my mom get in and out of car and stuff like that and it was like hey you didn't think anything of it and it's so weird to now look and see somebody that is in a position like my mom was in or somebody that gets diagnosed with breast cancer it brings back everything and you don't realize how young you are at the time and how much you are absorbing

01:37:48 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 2:

and it's it's wild yeah like a young age shouldn't have to see that no as much as we've seen but it's

01:37:54 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 3:

wild though how it just became part of normal life i agree yeah i feel like zach and this is this is you know to to tell you this the the this guy i feel like he and i have like some kind of like a like our moms connected us connected us yeah i really do like it's as weird as it is I um and people may think it's weird I think it's awesome but when I first met Zach I literally at first thought this kid kind of looks like me too you know what I mean like there's a little bit of you know of you know the goofiness in him and stuff and we started talking about our moms and going through our lives were so paralleled it's a god thing it is it's like I truly believe like my mom and your mom like are probably smoking a cigarette together you think they smoke cigarettes up in heaven yeah why not is there is it no smoking like it is in michigan um i love you buddy i love you and uh and i love all these people that you know are calling we got our lines are like jammed with people that lost uh lost somebody yeah and here's

01:39:00 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 2:

a little thing for our listeners i and mojo are proud of you like we need you to stay here and tell us your stories as well because you know it's not easy so we're proud of you for you know uh keeping on i don't know what are you saying dude it's it's hard losing a parent so we're i'm

01:39:20 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 3:

just proud of our i ended this break about five seconds before you even came no i love you i'm just messing with you i'm just digging around i love it um all right so uh Now let's be happy the rest of the show I don't want to talk about any death anymore It's necessary You think? I think it's lethargic And I think what Zach is kind of saying Cathartic I think what Zach was kind of saying

01:39:48 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 4:

Lethargic is like

01:39:49 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Like you're tired Cathartic Thank you It also could be lethargic

01:40:00 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 4:

a little tired no but i mean like like what zach is saying like it's not easy and the fact that people are calling in and are able to articulate their pain is cathartic yeah yeah or even just

01:40:12 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 1:

take this maybe this is a reminder today to take a moment and think about that person yeah you know

01:40:16 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 3:

and pause it's great it's crazy i was thinking about this yesterday and this is really wild how much like our you know loved ones who have passed have already been part of so much of our lives like the the idea that like my kids never met my mom they never met their grandma they know more about their grandma through my stories than you know most people have with their grandmas that

01:40:40 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 1:

are alive you know so all right anything zach before we you know i'm proud of you zach

01:40:52 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 3:

Love you guys Mojo in the morning

01:40:55 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update On Mojo in the morning

01:40:58 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Alright, second date update Why are you not getting a call back after you Went out on a date Miranda's on the phone with us right now Miranda, you're being ghosted Is that what I understand?

01:41:11 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah

01:41:13 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 3:

So, tell us You went out with this guy You went out with a guy named Nick And you thought that Everything was okay, and then you didn't hear a word from him afterwards?

01:41:28 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we first met at the gym. I mean, he seemed, like, he just seemed great. Like, I just, I don't know. And then we went to, like, one of my favorite bars, and that was really fun. And, you know, I asked him to hang out, and he just keeps flaking on me. So it's like, what, like, guys, don't flake on me.

01:41:50 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 3:

Do you see him at the gym, or is he flaking on you there, too? Is he not at the gym anymore?

01:41:58 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 2:

I haven't run into him in, like, the last week, so I haven't seen him.

01:42:04 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 3:

And he's not – are you trying to text him aside from calling him, and he's not responding?

01:42:11 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, a few times. Not, like, crazy, but a few times.

01:42:14 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay, we're going to find out what's going on. He's on the phone with us right now. Nick, will you say hello to Miranda?

01:42:20 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Miranda. Morning. Hey.

01:42:26 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 3:

I liked your hi, Miranda. It actually was very energetic. Are you happy to hear from Miranda, Nick? By the way, that doesn't sound like I'm happy to hear from a Miranda. Sounds lethargic.

01:42:42 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 4:

You know, so the conversation was, you know, pretty good on the date. I thought the vibes were decent. I just, I don't know. I felt, I felt uncomfortable. Honestly, like.

01:42:58 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 1:

What made you feel uncomfortable?

01:43:03 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I did a little homework as we all do on the, you know, on a first, before a first date, I should say. And I'm pretty sure I was being used. I don't know. I just, it seemed weird. The date seemed, at first it seemed cool, and then it seemed off. I think, I'm pretty sure her ex-boyfriend was there, and I was kind of being used.

01:43:32 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

Why do you think that her ex-boyfriend was there?

01:43:36 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 2:

How would you even know that was my ex? How would you even know?

01:43:39 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, come on. It's 2025. I did my homework. I saw that you're not a crazy person, or at least I thought. And I don't know. It just, I saw that your ex was there.

01:43:53 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Like at the place working or at the place hanging out? And also, again, you didn't answer the question. Like you just saw a picture of him on what, social media?

01:44:04 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And her posture sort of was facing him the entire time. I saw him when we walked in and I didn't think anything of it. And then I noticed too much.

01:44:18 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 3:

I noticed too much. Miranda, was your ex-boyfriend at the bar that you guys were at?

01:44:25 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 2:

All right. First of all, I just want to say that it's weird. It's weird that you're, like, social media stalking me. No, it's not. Like, we met in life at the gym. We met in life at the gym. We didn't meet on an app.

01:44:41 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 3:

Right. But wait, Miranda, you didn't answer the question. was your ex-boyfriend at the bar that night that you guys went out?

01:44:50 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, he might have been, but it's not like I was not. My posture was not. No, no, no. Stop for one second. So yes or no?

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

How is it that you, how is it that he.

01:45:00 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 2:

might have been was he there or was he there was he not there you know if he was there well he was there for a little while and then he left and you and he showed up there and you never said anything at all to nick like hey my ex-boyfriend is here well i didn't want to make

01:45:16 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 5:

it weird and we were having like a really good time and like we were talking and stuff

01:45:21 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 2:

Nick, question for you.

01:45:22 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 5:

My boyfriend.

01:45:23 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 2:

Was she talking to the ex-boyfriend?

01:45:28 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 3:

No, but there was a, there was too much of her awareness was on him.

01:45:37 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 2:

And that's what made you realize when she was focused on this guy that came into the bar. And then at that point, did you then start deep diving or you already did enough deep diving before you went out on a date with her to realize that that guy was her ex?

01:45:52 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it wasn't even a deep dive. I just, you know, scrolled a little bit, looked at some posts, whatever. I don't think that's anything anyone doesn't do.

01:46:00 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 6:

I agree with you.

01:46:01 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 2:

We all do that. But what I mean, though, is did you then see the guy and go, oh, that guy looks like a guy I saw on her, you know, Instagram?

01:46:10 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 3:

He was all over it.

01:46:13 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so that's not as weird as if all of a sudden he starts going to the Instagram and starts looking at it. he's looked beforehand he's done a little research and then realized that this guy was the guy that she had been in a day with now what's wrong though i don't see there anything wrong at all with you're gonna run into sometimes people and sometimes i don't know where you know where you guys are from but i'm thinking if you're in a small town or whatever i see my ex out all the

01:46:41 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 6:

time yeah but you said that like you think that you were being used so are you thinking that she knew that he was going to be there or gave him a heads up that that he was going to be there

01:46:54 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 3:

she's going to be there why did you make that comment i would i can't say that she did that for sure or knew that he was going to be there or didn't there it was just too convenient and there was it's not that she wasn't even something was off and her attention was on me but not But, you know, it was almost like she was posing for a camera, like a candid camera somewhere.

01:47:23 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. Dwayne wants to make a comment. Dwayne, what did you want to say?

01:47:28 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, Mondo. She did him dirty. She knew that her ex-boyfriend was going to be there. She did him dirty to make her boyfriend jealous. And she slipped up. She actually just said, my boyfriend. And she stopped. And she actually, like, muted herself.

01:47:43 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 3:

Caught that. I heard that, too. Heard that, too.

01:47:46 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I didn't do anyone dirty. There's no dirty. We went on a date, and I really liked you, honestly. And, like, now I want to go out again. And now I'm, like, being accused of stuff. Like, we had a good time on the date. If you were so paranoid the whole time, why wouldn't you just say so on the date? And I didn't do anyone dirty, dude.

01:48:07 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, why did you not, Nick, say to her when you guys were out, like, hey, who's this guy over here that you're paying so much attention to?

01:48:14 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 3:

well here's my thing if it wasn't an issue if if i'm her and i saw my ex out i would have said something like oh my ex is here do you want to go i don't want to make you feel uncomfortable something like that but but the fact that that guy was there the whole time and nothing was said about it, and he was in plain sight. You know, like, address the elephant. I didn't want to make

01:48:45 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 2:

it weird. It's only an elephant if you know about it. And, Nick, if she's not paying any attention to him or going over and talking to him, I don't think it matters. Wendy wants to comment. What's up, Wendy? Hi.

01:48:58 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 4:

Hey, these guys are tripping. It sounds like he has PTSD from a bad date or something. If I run into my ex out i'm not gonna make an announcement i'm not gonna be like oh guess what there's my ex

01:49:11 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

nick nick wendy brings up an interesting point wendy i liked what you said nick did you have like a bad past relationship where the girl wasn't over her ex and this is

01:49:22 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

bringing back a little bit of that thankfully no uh it was just too many things too many coincidences it seems like there you know she kept looking you know like quick glances in his

01:49:35 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 2:

direction i understand that but i'm but i'm what i'm wondering is if this is you know reminding you of a past relationship and you're saying i don't want a part of this anymore somebody that still is hung up on their ex um but just because she like sees him yeah that doesn't mean that that's a lot that's a big strike the place

01:49:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

take a guess take a wild guess

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 7:

That's where he's coming from. Did she do it on purpose?

01:50:03 - 01:50:07 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm thinking is his thought process. Miranda, did you do it on purpose? Did you pick that place?

01:50:08 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no. It's like we both know that bar. Like, it's a place that I like a lot that I have gone to.

01:50:16 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 3:

When you say we both like it a lot, is it you and Nick or you and your ex-boyfriend?

01:50:21 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. No. To be fair, I do know the bar and I do like it.

01:50:25 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 3:

You do like it. Okay. Erin wants to comment. Erin, what's up?

01:50:28 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 8:

uh i'm on nick's side and i agree with dwayne that miranda did nick dirty yes thank you aaron

01:50:38 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 3:

aaron let me ask you a question though aaron quick question for you though miranda kind of sounds cute wouldn't you uh think that this would be just okay for nick to kind of give her a a chance a second chance yeah yeah i mean he say he did a dirty but give her a second Give her a second chance. Quick flip there, Aaron. Yeah. Nick, I think Nick and Miranda, there's something to them. They just have, like, this energy about them. Like, they're arguing right off the bat. They've only been with each other for one date, and they're getting this worked up over it. Michelle, what are your thoughts?

01:51:12 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 6:

I think she is way too defensive. Absolutely. Obviously, something was going on. It could have been some kind of kink thing. And him seeing her out with another guy, you know, I hate to say it, but she's way too defensive for, you know, not having anything to do with it.

01:51:34 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

She's not just trying to make her ex jealous. She's got a kink thing going on. They're still together. This is the thing. What's up, Frank? Hi. How are you doing? You know, I'm kind of honestly in a little bit of a twilight zone right now with these two guys. What are your thoughts?

01:51:54 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my thoughts are, like, we're chastising this guy, but if the roles were reversed and you're not paying attention to her or you went somewhere that reminded you of someone else or you went to a favorite spot, this guy would be roasted.

01:52:09 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 3:

You know what, Frank? We've learned this with the second date update. It's always a double standard. When the women do something wrong, the guys never, ever, ever can actually make out like the women do when the guy does something wrong. There is a double standard.

01:52:26 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. This guy seems to be sincere to some degree. Legit.

01:52:31 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Hold on. Somebody that actually is in favor of Miranda would like to make a comment, and that is Faith. Hi, Faith. What do you mean you're in favor of Miranda?

01:52:43 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 5:

Howdy. I think that Miranda probably didn't intentionally set up this situation, but I think that when it's commenting towards, like, blanches and stuff, it seems like there may be unresolved feelings and some healing that needs to go on there.

01:52:58 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So it wasn't purposely done, but it happened and it just needed to be acknowledged. No, that's a good point.

01:53:04 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because I've actually been in a similar situation with my boyfriend of four years. When we first met, we were out. I was so invested with the conversation that I didn't notice my ex had showed up and he was like, hey, isn't that your ex? And I was like, let's get out of here.

01:53:19 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 3:

He at least pointed out. That's what I was waiting for.

01:53:22 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, when you're invested in the person, you don't notice that that toxicity has showed up in your periphery.

01:53:29 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 3:

And then get out of there. All right, second date update.

01:53:32 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. And War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:53:39 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 3:

All right. We've got a chance for you to go see Chris Brown this week. Thursday and Friday, Ford Field, the show's sold out. We got a pair of tickets all week long at this time. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, the 95th caller. Good luck.

01:54:00 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:54:02 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 3:

I can't wait until after the dirty to find out what Bianca did that kind of is upsetting Lydia. Lydia's not here to defend herself, so Bianca wants to do it today. She wants to talk about it today. We'll do that after this dirty. What's going on, Shannon?

01:54:18 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, I don't know if you can play this, but I don't have it. In our group text. So during last night's Detroit stop of Katy Perry's Lifetimes tour, I was there. This happened, I think, literally as I had just walked out. Because this was the song that I walked out while it was playing. So she, Katie's about to sing The One That Got Away. She invites a few, like, teenagers, essentially, girls, up on stage to sing with her. One of these poor girls, I don't know what happened, just collapsed.

01:54:53 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 3:

Where is it in the group text?

01:54:54 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 1:

On Little Caesars. Where did you send it, Bianca?

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Bianca sent it to me, will you?

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 2:

Put it in the group text here.

01:55:04 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 3:

We'll have to put it up on our Instagram story as well. Security, I mean, really quickly. It's just a fan.

01:55:10 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 2:

It's just a fan that comes up on stage.

01:55:12 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, her name was McKenna. Is she okay? Security got her off the stage, and the concert continued. But as they got her off the stage, Katie pulled the three other young fans into a group, and they prayed for her.

01:55:23 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 2:

Bianca, can you send me the Katy Perry? The video of her falling? Yeah, the girl. Yeah, I'll give you one second. Hold on a second.

01:55:31 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 3:

By the way, while we're waiting for that. Text it.

01:55:32 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 2:

Just text it in a group text.

01:55:34 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was asking me if I saw Justin Trudeau at the concert last night. And the answer is I did not. Were people also asking you? He was quiet, but her daughter was there. Daisy was there.

01:55:45 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Where did Smith get that outfit that he was wearing? That's an Amazon?

01:55:49 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

We decided we both had to wear fun outfits because, of course, you have to. It's a Katy Perry show. And so he picked his outfit from Amazon.

01:55:55 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 1:

Here you go, my dear. Okay. Let's practice. You got this. let's breathe let's breathe because you got it you got it ready let's practice oh my god

01:56:06 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 2:

she goes down hard oh wow she hit that hard wow you're gonna be kidding me we're saying Was she so excited about meeting Katy Perry?

01:56:29 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 3:

It must have just, yeah, got to her.

01:56:31 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 2:

Where the water's so expensive, she couldn't afford to be hydrated. Wow, that's amazing. She didn't be confirmed later on. She was okay, though. Haziness.

01:56:43 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 3:

Justin Timberlake last week revealed that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, And apparently he had endured months upon months of unexplained fatigue and pain and illness. And he didn't know what it was. He was like, okay, I'm getting older. This is life on the road. I'm not taking care of myself. Didn't even know what was going on until his wife, Jessica Biel, said, you need to go to the doctor at this point. Like this has gone on way too long. He shared on Instagram how she was the one who has really held the family together during this difficult time. But he said the disease since being diagnosed has been relentlessly debilitating.

01:57:27 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 2:

I still say it's a setup for him to not look as bad as he did when he was not singing on stage. Or it's true. Well, I've known people that have had Lyme disease before, but is he that debilitated from his Lyme disease, do we believe?

01:57:45 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 3:

We're all skeptics now, aren't we? All right, nah.

01:57:48 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 2:

Not about this one, I'm not.

01:57:50 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Universal Music Group is firing back at Salt-N-Pepa. Salt-N-Pepa have not been in the dirty in forever, but they're trying to, they're attempting to win back control of their masters. I guess a bunch of their songs are being used technically illegally in a whole bunch of different advertising campaigns.

01:58:11 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. You hear them all the time.

01:58:13 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 1:

when you're an artist in the beginning uh you sign a contract saying that the copyrights will revert back to you after 35 years and we've done all the things legally to get our copyrights back but they're just refusing so we had to sue them here's the deal that termination actually happened

01:58:38 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 3:

in 2022 so salt and pepper said salt and pepper sent a you know a i don't even know what it's called a notice to umg saying okay it's time we get these back umg refused to honor them they instead are coming forward with a story saying those songs were quote-unquote works made for hire meaning it's a technicality the label not the artist own them permanently and they're not subject to termination by the artist so they're saying sorry you signed on the dotted line we own these songs and will forever i don't think they're gonna win that because i think like

01:59:15 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 2:

all those motown artists and you know that that over the years have lost their music to same thing yeah commercials or maybe movie trailers and things like that i don't know it's tough yeah can i tell you something uh that uh a lot of people are are saying that this is going to be the next big legal case that will be like how Taylor Swift went after Scooter Braun.

01:59:41 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yep.

01:59:42 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 2:

I like Salt-N-Pepa. What's your favorite Salt-N-Pepa song? Do you have a favorite? That's probably the only one I know for real. Let's talk about sex. What a man, what a man, what a man, what a good man. Don't bring it out the heat. All those are babies. Come on.

02:01:40 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 4:

It's like breaking it and entering Christmas wish time all over again. That topic that we talked about at the beginning of the hour ruined my entire makeup. Oh, my God. I swear to you, I can't get it out. I can't get, ooh, I got snot in it. By the way, I also have something disgusting happening to me. Oh my god What is it? I'm peeling I don't know if you can see this on the camera But I'm peeling and Chelsea got mad at me We were eating dinner last night And I just sat there at the dinner table peeling

02:02:09 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 3:

I can't stop once I stop I love it You can't do that when you eat it

02:02:13 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 4:

You look like

02:02:16 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 3:

You look like shredding cheese It's like at Olive Garden

02:02:21 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 4:

Although at Olive Garden they do the spinny thing And it comes out like little things

02:02:26 - 02:02:29 | Speaker 3:

I know you're Cuban, but we don't want that seasoning on our food.

02:02:29 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever play the game with yourself of seeing how big of a piece you can get without breaking it?

02:02:33 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, here's one right here.

02:02:34 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 2:

What are y'all on right now? That's not that big.

02:02:36 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Want to see one? Hold on. Let's see if I got a good one here.

02:02:38 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 2:

I like to just get like a big chunk.

02:02:41 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 4:

I know you love us white dudes that peel. Would you like a little piece of some of our skin?

02:02:47 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to let you save that for yourself. Do you peel? No, I don't peel. I mean, I got like a little some stuff here, but I don't peel. I'm more of like if I have a scratch. and it tries to heal, I'm more of like, I'll scratch that stuff off. You pick the scabs. I'm a little scabber picker. Do you get sunburn? Nah. I don't be in the sun like that. I'll get darker, though. You can see I get a shade darker. If you're out a long time, really? Yeah, yeah. I don't think I've ever got sunburn.

02:03:10 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Could you get Idris Elba dark? Have you ever thought about that?

02:03:12 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 3:

No, I would have to go to Planet Fitness and get in a beautiful tanning bed in order for something like that. Nah, I can't get that magic.

02:03:21 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 4:

You gotta be born with that. I have to tell you that But I, this weekend, was out for just not a ton of time without sunscreen on. It was out for just a little bit. And I'm telling you, within an hour, I was burned. Like, it was crazy.

02:03:37 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 2:

I was sitting outside for those swim meets for all day, Friday, Saturday. And I wear sunscreen because I've had skin cancer removed. But it wasn't even that hot. But when you are sitting in the sun, you bake.

02:03:48 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it is one of those things.

02:03:50 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 2:

My lips, that's the only part of me. I didn't wear the chapstick that I have. I have, like, a sun bum or something. I don't know what I have in my purse that has SPF. I didn't wear it. It's driving me crazy to have chaps to my lips or how sunburned my lips are.

02:04:03 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 4:

You know what the wildest is is that that has become, like, the part. Like, I have Cuban heritage, so I think my Cuban blood kind of makes it that I don't really. I get red, but it doesn't hurt horribly, and then it gets totally tan right away. My lips, though, is the hardest part. Like, it's like you're eating Frank's hot sauce all the time. You know what I mean?

02:04:26 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 2:

I keep glabbing this lip gloss on and not because I want my lips to look nice. They just hurt so bad.

02:04:32 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 3:

Mine works in a different season. Like, my lips get chapped and start burning in the wintertime. Really? When that wind hits sometimes, that's going to get cracking.

02:04:40 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

I was looking at the weather forecast because, first off, I have to tell you guys, it is depressing as hell that schools are starting soon and that it's august like this summer went by so fast it's it's not even not even fun i bought all the school supplies over the week

02:05:00 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 2:

I feel like it's more so hitting you because you couldn't golf. Like, you couldn't do something you were looking forward to. I think so, too. By the way, so Dr. Beatty gave me the go-ahead last week at my thing, my appointment to take swings. Like, I can't drive, but I can, like, swing with my irons, which, by the way, I normally can't swing with my irons anyway. But it was nice to be out. Like, I was out this weekend. Chelsea, Luke, and I went out. It was so much fun. It was honestly great. And the best thing of having the shoulder surgery has been that it's made me realize how much I overly tried to be good. And honestly, like when you don't, like you pull back a little bit and you're like, you know what, I'm going to pull back a little bit. I'm just going to take an easy swing. And you're like, holy crap, this football actually goes like it kind of like I'm playing old man golf right now. Like where I'm the old guy that just hits it on the, you know, hey, it's nice day. And next thing you know, you're like, wow, I actually parred that hole. Pretty good. Weather forecast for this week is gorgeous through until maybe Sunday. But you have nothing but sunshine. Every forecast every day has the sun showing and 84 degrees. Look at that. Look at that. Looks beautiful. That is perfect. It's amazing. That's like awesome. And then I had to get it ruined when I was talking to a couple of the kids that live in our neighborhood. Because I don't have any high school kids anymore. but I know that Luke's going back to school in a little over a week. He's going to be moving back to Michigan State. I cannot believe that the high schools in our area, like the Catholic high schools, are starting to go back early. What's up? Is it Annika or Annika? Hello. It's nobody. Hello.

02:06:49 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Annika. Sorry, my cheek muted the phone. It's Annika.

02:06:51 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Annika. What's happening, Annika?

02:06:54 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Nothing. Black folk don't burn.

02:06:56 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Black tops don't burn. Is that right?

02:06:59 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Black people don't burn like that. I've never burned.

02:07:02 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 2:

That's a question that I've always truly wondered, and I've always been too scared to ask. You ain't got to be scared. I've never burned. That's why I asked you, do you peel? Like, if you burn, do you peel?

02:07:14 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 1:

No. No, because we don't really burn at all.

02:07:17 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Do black people lay out in the sun? For sure. I know some girls for sure that do that. They let it go on boats and tan and lay out in the sun. Really? But so they'll actually, like, lay out, like, at a pool, like you see some of these teenage girls do all the time? That's interesting. Do you ever do that, Annika?

02:07:36 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 1:

No. No. Like, I like hanging out in the pool. I can tan and have tan lines within five minutes of being outside. Oh, you're lucky. Yeah. We tan really good, but don't burn.

02:07:50 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Well, you know what? That's good. That's a blessing. I actually feel blessed to be Cuban that my skin is not crazy. Like, my mother was Irish, so there are some family members of mine that get really, really bad in the sun. They look horrible. They get rashes and things like that. So, it's nice. Okay. Hey, you take care. Not those kind of rashes. Not those kind of rashes that you're thinking about.

02:08:14 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 1:

I need a shot for this. If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure she has the herps.

02:08:19 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 2:

All right. I love you. You take care of yourself.

02:08:21 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 1:

Hey, before I go, I won Justin Timberlake tickets from you guys a while back, right? And I've been meaning to get through to tell you guys. So I went to that concert, and I'm afraid of heights. And y'all had me at the tip top of Little Scissors. Oh, my God. No, don't even tell me that. Shannon, you remember me, Shannon?

02:08:41 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 2:

No, are you serious?

02:08:42 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Combsy? Wait, say that again? I said, Mr. Combsy, you remember me, Shannon? Oh, my God.

02:08:49 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, hold on. What's the story? I want to hear it. She said, I was at the top. What happened? Did we give out the worst seats ever? Nosebleeds.

02:08:56 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

To me, you did. I didn't even stay for the show. I got up there, and I was shaking so bad that I left.

02:09:03 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I'm so embarrassed. No, can I tell you, though, the funniest with those seats? We went to Jingle Ball. It's our show. And people that bought seats way up at the top, I went up there to do a thing up on Instagram where we go and we bring them down to the front, and they had me go up there. I'm not going to lie to you. You feel like you're going to fall over. At Little Caesars Arena, the top area there, if you stumble down those stairs, you're going to be on stage with Justin Timberlake. I mean, it is scary as hell. Those rails aren't going to save you if you tumble. I'm sorry that we did that. We gave you those tickets. We get comp tickets sometimes that are great, and sometimes we get comp tickets, and they're duds. I apologize She's gone What's up Paris Hey what's going on Mojo What's happening Not much. I do have to say that one girl, she was incorrect. We do peel. I was in the sun with a tank top on for a little weekend. And then two days later, I was, you know, taking a shower. And I'm like, what's this on my fingers? And I looked like, oh, shoot. It was skin coming out. So my shoulders did peel. And I did shed a little bit on my shoulders. Okay. But, yes.

02:10:22 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

You know what you need? You need a little cocoa butter. Cocoa butter or gasoline. Why are you spacing out like that? A little cocoa butter. Cocoa butter. It's almost like one word. Cocoa butter. It's cocoa butter. Cocoa butter. Cocoa butter skin.

02:10:39 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. Mojo.

02:10:41 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:10:43 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Just to let you know, me and Lotus are getting married in about two weeks. What? Are you serious? Yes, we are. I'm dead serious. In two weeks. Congrats. The fifth of this month.

02:10:51 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 3:

Where are you guys getting married? Where's the wedding?

02:10:53 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 2:

We're doing a honeymoon at Niagara Falls And we're just doing something real quick And then put the money on the honeymoon No, no, no

02:11:02 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 3:

Niagara Falls honeymoon is not a good idea Because I've seen too many of those You know, mystery shows Like Dateline Where they got married And then he pushed you, you know Or she pushed you

02:11:14 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 2:

Don't be No, it's not like that It's not like that It's just something Something she never did before We wanted to go see the water You know, so

02:11:22 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's cool Congratulations to you guys. Have the very best time. Thank you. All right, appreciate it. We opened up a can of worms here now. Everybody wants to talk about whether or not black people sunburn. Let's get into it. What's up, princess?

02:11:36 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

02:11:38 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi, what can we do for you?

02:11:41 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 4:

Originally going to say that I'm 33, and I've only known one other black person that had a sunburn, and that was in high school at band camp. But then I remembered that about five years ago, I had a sunburn when I came back from Vegas.

02:11:55 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, where did you go? Did you go to the pool bar or something? Or where were you at?

02:12:01 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 4:

I was at the Lovers and Friends Festival.

02:12:03 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:12:04 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're outside all day.

02:12:05 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 3:

That was actually great. Yeah, they do that big festival outdoors, like in a parking lot, don't they?

02:12:12 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was really nice. And I came back with, like, bumps and everything. I was peeling. It was so bad. You know what they call that?

02:12:19 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

They call that black-on-black crime there, The fact that you are, you're hanging out, you're hanging out on a blacktop, watching a show and burning yourself. Black on black. Yeah, it's not good. We did the festival, the iHeart Festival there. And I'm going to tell you, that is not a good place to actually watch some of the festival from because it is hot like hell. It's so brutal. Speaking of that, we're giving a keyword out coming up in a second. You want to go back to Vegas to go to the iHeart Festival with us. Okay. Brought to you by Zot Ford. So stick around.

02:12:50 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 4:

Notice. Will do.

02:12:52 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 3:

All right, we'll talk to you later. Swap, are you there, Swap?

02:12:58 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:12:59 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 3:

What did you want to say?

02:13:01 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 1:

So I'm living in the U.S. for like last 15 years, but I'm originally from India, but I can be out in sun for hours and never get sunburned. My wife sometimes applies the sunscreen, but both of us, we never had any sunburns.

02:13:18 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so Indian people do not sunburn. I'm telling you, it's a blessing.

02:13:24 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure some people might, but, yeah, my skin is brown, and I can be in the sun for, like, hours and don't have any issues.

02:13:33 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 3:

All right. There you go. This is things where it's funny. Sometimes there are things that you've always wanted to ask.

02:13:39 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 4:

But, like I said, I'm too scared. I don't want anybody to think I'm being offensive. I'm curious.

02:13:44 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Is there anything, Kevin, you would like to ask us white people? How does it feel? Sign us? Today, I'm a little sore. I know Sidney Sweeney's having a tough moment, but overall, it's got to be great, right? No, but there's got to be. Is there any questions at all? Like, why do we do certain things or, you know? Nah. I, um, uh, no, I really don't. What about an Indian guy? Would you like to ask Swap? Swap, is there anything that you would like, or is there a question that people ask you being an Indian man?

02:14:16 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, I have been asked whether, like, I get sunburned, and I'm like, no, no. Yeah, no. Okay. That's the answer all the time. Hey, by the way, I'm first in a long time.

02:14:25 - 02:14:26 | Unknown:

Oh!

02:14:27 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 1:

Suave on the ball.

02:14:29 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 3:

I want to do, by the way, a topic one time on the air, and maybe, I don't know if now is the time, but I want to do the topic of... We should do it. Do it now! Should we do it now? What's happening? All right. The topic is we ask a question of people because of their race, religion, color, creed, whatever the deal is, and we ask them a question that we've always wanted to know.

02:14:50 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:14:50 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 3:

Like, for instance, Swap hung up the phone, but I wanted to ask him the question, why is it that there are so many people that are telemarketing that have Indian accents?

02:14:58 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

02:14:59 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Like, what is it?

02:15:00 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 4:

reasoning behind that can somebody please tell me is it because all the calls are coming from india

02:15:04 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 3:

probably or what's the story i got the call centers over there so swap call us back wkui detroit

02:15:10 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 2:

wsnx muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo three great stations one stupid show this is mojo in the

02:15:21 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 4:

morning live all right here's a question for bianca this is a question for you the next question all right Bianca why is it that Chaldean moms because you're Chaldean which is an Iraqi Catholic for those who don't know yes Chaldean moms do all Chaldean moms make you go to the side of the road and pick grape leaves off of off of the side of the road no but actually when I was

02:15:49 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 1:

younger my grandma used to make me go in like my neighbor's backyards and pick out their grape

02:15:53 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

leaves did the neighbors ever get upset that you were stealing their grape leaves or are they happy that you were actually picking their weeds for them.

02:15:59 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 1:

No, they liked it. They only liked it if we were going to bring them food, though. Okay. They're like, if you make us some, you can do whatever you want to do in our backyard.

02:16:06 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 4:

But if you live next door to another Chaldean, is taking their grape leaves considered to be like, because aren't grape leaves, you don't plant grape leaves, do you?

02:16:14 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 1:

No, you do. My Jiddu has like a whole grape leaf wall in his backyard. Okay. Yeah. Is that how you say grandfather? Yeah, Jiddu. Yeah, Jiddu is a grandpa in Chaldean.

02:16:24 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 4:

How did you know that was? It's the cutest name. How did you know that was grandfather's? She said he.

02:16:28 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:16:28 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he. Okay. All right.

02:16:30 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 1:

And my grandmas are dead, so it wouldn't make sense.

02:16:31 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 4:

Any other questions that people would like to ask at all? Or is this a bit kind of flat? No, this is your topic. You know what?

02:16:36 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you got the question. Okay. No, there is no question that you ever wanted to ask anybody. I really don't care. No. To be honest, like on that level. Like if it came on. You're killing. This is the first. I can't make up something and lie just on the spot. If I had something, I would promise you I would ask. But I don't have anything in my mind where I've been like, damn. I've always wanted to know from a white person. Like, I never thought like that.

02:16:58 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. I just didn't.

02:17:01 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 3:

But ask away. Like, go crazy.

02:17:03 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 4:

All right. Let me ask Shannon a women's question, a female question. What does it feel like to have your period? What is it actually? Like, does it feel? Can you feel something?

02:17:13 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Really? Okay. If you have a tampon in most of the time, no. But, and this is disgusting, but I heard it on a commercial too. I'm like, it's so accurate. there are times when it like a lot comes out at one time it like gushes out like if you see somebody running to the bathroom with their tampon that's probably what's happening because

02:17:31 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 4:

i've had a bloody nose before and didn't even know it and somebody says hey you got a bloody

02:17:35 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 6:

nose i'm like no you know when that's happening but other than that like cramps aside you don't

02:17:40 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

necessarily feel it but i guess on that line what's it like to lose your virginity Wait, everybody feels that. No, we don't feel it like how they feel it. Does it hurt like people say it hurts?

02:17:54 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 6:

For me, it did. And I cried because I was so upset.

02:17:58 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 4:

That made me want to stop. Afterward, not during, afterward. How about fat guys? Is it hard to find pants? Like, do you ever get full? no no no that's a good question that is a good question there have there have been times where i've never felt full before i started doing that shot like there are times where i literally could eat like i could eat myself to death if i wanted to they did not i did not get that full sensation no that's a great one that is a great one ruba would like to ask a question uh ruba what's your question i wonder why caucasian folks love mayonnaise so much have you not tried mayonnaise

02:18:51 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 5:

no i have but it's like they have a fixation on it it's so good it's good but only a little bit

02:18:58 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 4:

out there i don't like a lot of no but there's only good mayonnaise is helman mayonnaise i agree with that miracle yeah miracle whips and duke okay duke's growing on me uh what's up jen how you doing hey jen don't be shy jen are you there did you also hit the uh the the mute button with your cheek or is her name not jen that's been a problem who everybody who's on hold with us speak up and say hello oh what happened somebody there yeah they're gonna hang up there okay oh there you go hello k is on with us hi k hi what's your question sounds horrible

02:19:45 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

but why don't african americans tip for like doordash or delivery services or something like that i can't speak for everybody but i tip and i tip very well i'm gonna be honest with you

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 7:

I always go, especially if it's online, I'm going to either the second one, which isn't the least but is in the middle ground, or I'm putting my own in there.

02:20:07 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:20:07 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 7:

But I will say this, though. It depends on how much the item costs and what the extra delivery fees are as well. That can gauge, like, no, I'm not about to pay $40 and the chicken only costs $12.

02:20:18 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 6:

I will tell you this as far as tipping is concerned. I think that that is a universal problem with people. I don't think that that has anything to do. But that's interesting that you say that. Do you find that that's the case?

02:20:31 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, with DoorDash, a lot of people think that $7.99 delivery fee is for dashers. It is not. That money goes for half goes to DoorDash, the corporate, and the other half goes to the restaurant or the store or anything. We only get what people tip us extra.

02:20:54 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 6:

Interesting. Wow. That's interesting. I did not know that. Awareness. They should make you aware of that when you're ordering the thing. Bernard, what's happening?

02:21:04 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, how you doing?

02:21:05 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 6:

Good. What's your question?

02:21:07 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 1:

I've always wondered, why do white people put their bare feet on the dashboard?

02:21:13 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 2:

I do that. I am so guilty of that. Especially in a passenger seat. Yeah, it's most comfortable. I do it all the time.

02:21:21 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 6:

I think it's disgusting as hell, Bernard. A woman can get away with it. If you see a guy with his foot hanging out the window, I just want to take it off.

02:21:29 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 3:

You know what else I do? I drive Bernard with usually my left foot up on my seat, which is so dangerous, but I do that a lot. There's something weird.

02:21:37 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 6:

You know what happens, Bernard? One accident and an airbag throwing that thing back keeps you from doing that. It's a very good question. Hold on. T has a question. T, we're asking questions that everybody wants to know. Hi, T.

02:21:56 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 5:

T. Hey. Hi. Hey, Mosher, why do Caucasian women throw their hair back as if hair is in their face, but it's not?

02:22:10 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 6:

Because they're flirting. Wait, what does she mean? That's a flirty moment when they sit there and they rub their... Oh, yeah. They're flirting, T. Or we just don't like our hair in our face. They're trying to steal your man, T. That's why they're doing it.

02:22:24 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Okay.

02:22:27 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 3:

I actually have a hair question, T, that you can answer because this came up in our house. When families go on vacation to tropical places and white kids get their hair braided, does it upset you? No, not at all. Because Lucy got cornered at school about it. Really? And I wondered, I said, I thought to myself, is this a bigger deal than, like, I have even. What did they say to her? It's not a big deal. It's just a hairstyle. Yeah, I know. No, but she was really upset about it that somebody said to her, oh, see, you got your hair braided.

02:23:01 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

02:23:01 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 3:

I think some of the. And insinuated that it was a problem.

02:23:05 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 7:

I think some of the cultural appropriation just comes from when celebrities do it and they're in a different conversation than somebody else. Yeah, because she was so excited.

02:23:13 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 3:

And Smith had his done, too. They were so excited. And then they were like, it brought it down. And I've always wanted to ask, is that bad?

02:23:20 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 7:

No, it's when popular America, news outlets, all of a sudden, Kylie Jenner gets cornrows, and it's the best thing they've ever seen.

02:23:30 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:23:31 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 7:

It becomes this new— So that's different. It starts to push the culture in terms of it being more widely accepted, or now it's fashion, when black people have been getting their hair braided since forever. That's when it's starting to become a negative conversation.

02:23:42 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 6:

On the other end of the spectrum— Eddie, what's your question about white people?

02:23:46 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 1:

why do you guys love the dog uh the doodles the golden doodle so much what's that the doodles

02:23:53 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 6:

hold on speak again hold on real quick i don't understand why maybe because it sounds like you're talking with a mouthful of syrup say it again why do you guys love the dog golden doodle so much why why do white people love golden doodles that's an interesting one i don't know But that is, you're right though And every variation

02:24:14 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 3:

Cavapoo, Golden Doodle Labradoodle, Burnadoodle

02:24:18 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, every doodle We love them all One last one, Anthony, what's your question? Anthony What the hell's going on? Lydia, you must yell at these people Bianca, you're not yelling at them Anthony, what'd you want to say?

02:24:36 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 7:

Come on, Anthony Get all Bluetooth, we hear you

02:24:38 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 6:

02:24:38 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 7:

oh my god i love these questions this is jordan oh

02:24:42 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 6:

02:24:47 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

02:24:54 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

bianca open up those ears there's anthony in the contacts bro go ahead what's your

02:25:00 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 3:

name jordan jordan what's your question so why i'm white but why why can white people not figure out how to dance to the rhythm

02:25:10 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 2:

Lydia is taking a couple of days off. She needs well rest, has well deserved this rest. Not just from the amount of work that she does for the show, but for the fact that she had to spend that much time with Bianca.

02:27:06 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 1:

All right. What happened?

02:27:10 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, let's first off and say this. Just because we're so cheap sometimes as a show, sharing rooms in a hotel when you're at a festival like this, is not a great idea because it's nice to spend time with everybody on the show, but you need to have a way time, like to not have like a moment to yourself. And what we learned from Lydia and Bianca's trip to Miami was the more time they spend together, the more that Lydia is happy that she's an only child.

02:27:41 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And then the one second we had a way time, she got even more mad at me. So it was a lose-lose situation.

02:27:48 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. What did you do, though, to make her mad? Explain that.

02:27:51 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 1:

So I had some college friends that lived in Chicago that came to go hang out with us. They came to our hotel and Lydia left the room to go talk to her mom. I honestly think she just was getting tired of me. So my friends are hanging out in the room. It was Lydia's one friend, my two friends and then me. We're all hanging out. One of my friends get into Lydia's side of the bed, get under the cover, start cuddling up in her bed like laying down making herself at home and i didn't think that was an issue though so i was letting her do whatever she wants but um i get a text from lydia about like an hour later and she said why is your friend laying in my bed and i'm like well um also lydia wanted to make this clear she said before we get talking on why i was mad let's be clear. I do not like outside cheeks on my bed. I agree with her a million percent. That doesn't sound like a crazy thing to say. Do not even lay on top of the sheets on my side of the bed.

02:28:52 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 2:

And I don't know you. Uh-uh. I don't

02:28:54 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 1:

think it's an issue. I thought it was a huge issue. She

02:28:58 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 2:

a stranger. I don't know this girl. Why are you, first off, you understand that if you guys room together, that if you had a friend come over to spend the night, you would have to ask her for permission to use that bed.

02:29:12 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 1:

if a friend wanted to spend the night well here's the thing she did have one of her friends spend the night and i didn't know about it until we got there so yeah but where was the friend sleeping

02:29:21 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 2:

in a mattress okay they're not sleeping on the bed that's your bed yeah but i mean she wasn't

02:29:28 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 1:

dirty she was fine she was showered she was clean i don't think it was an issue i would let someone

02:29:33 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 2:

sleep in my bed i don't care yeah but you understand you yeah you're you're uh filthy

02:29:39 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 1:

So this is it

02:29:44 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

Lydia must be on the plane Is she on the plane right now?

02:29:48 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah she's on the plane right now Give me the timeline

02:29:50 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 2:

Are y'all fresh off the festival And everybody tired

02:29:55 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah this is the night after Olivia Rodrigo When everyone's tired

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 3:

And then all my friends came over. I think she was already tired, too.

02:30:03 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:30:03 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 3:

And she was... Okay, are you taking a caller?

02:30:05 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 4:

No, go ahead. Keep talking. Ashton, hang on one second.

02:30:09 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 3:

She said, your friends can come over as long as I can sit on the bed. So the second she left, my friend's cuddling in her bed, and I think that just got her mad.

02:30:17 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 4:

Ashton.

02:30:19 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what's up, guys?

02:30:20 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 4:

Do you think Lydia should be pissed that there were some strange people laying in her bed?

02:30:27 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'd be more than pissed. That's so gross. Like, I don't know her, and she doesn't know me. What if I have bed bugs or something? Now she's bringing bed bugs.

02:30:35 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, head lice. What about head lice? These girls that are... Or head lice. They're all girls, Bianca, or guys, too? Bianca, girls, and guys. Don't answer the phones right now. I want you to talk. Bianca, talk to us.

02:30:52 - 02:30:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Okay, one second. What up?

02:30:54 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 4:

Is it all girls?

02:30:55 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it was all girls. Okay. It doesn't matter.

02:30:57 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 4:

What if they have head lice?

02:30:58 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 3:

They don't have head lice. I'm not friends with moms.

02:31:01 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 4:

We need to check them at the door for scabies, head lice.

02:31:06 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 3:

But you've been at Lala all day. You're sweaty. You've been around a bajillion people. That is nasty.

02:31:13 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 4:

We're going back to COVID.

02:31:14 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 3:

My friends weren't at Lala. It was just me. Like, they weren't nasty. I was probably nastier than them.

02:31:19 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 4:

You know what kind of diseases they have at Lala Palooza? What's up, Jennifer? How you doing?

02:31:24 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 3:

What's up, you guys? That's so gross. But, like, you guys are always on Kazi, too. I kind of feel bad for her. I know. They're always on me.

02:31:33 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 4:

You really think that we're that hard on her? I don't think so.

02:31:36 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 3:

You guys are.

02:31:37 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 4:

She does things, but then we have to understand that she's also very young, you know? I'm 22.

02:31:43 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm not that young. She's so bright. She's so young. She doesn't know better. Well, okay. Jessie, are you? Here's the thing, though. I'm not going to lie. After a lot of Palooza some days, I was tired. I didn't take a shower before I went in my bed. Oh, that's gross. I'm sleeping next to Lydia, not showered.

02:31:58 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 4:

God, that is gross. That is so gross.

02:32:01 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 3:

Lydia was not mad about that. Well, I don't think she knew, but.

02:32:04 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 4:

Do you think that when Lydia comes back, and she's what, back Wednesday? Is that what I understand?

02:32:10 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's back Wednesday.

02:32:10 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 4:

When she's back on Wednesday, you think she'll have any more things to complain about? Oh, she's got a list going in her notes as well.

02:32:18 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't know. Maybe a couple things. I think a little bit of the Miami stuff came back out again because I was just like, let's go out. Let's go do things. and she didn't really want to at the end of the night. So I think that was kind of a thing. Also, I was just talking too much, and she was like, Bianca, sometimes I just don't want to talk. I just want to be quiet.

02:32:40 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 2:

You guys for sure from this point forward need separate rooms.

02:32:43 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 4:

No, I want them to do this. I'm going to call up Randy Wertheimer, and I'm going to see if any of those apartments that he has places in. Oh, my God. If he'll let these guys live together somewhere, but they have to live together in a one bedroom i don't think i think me and lydia would be okay

02:33:01 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 3:

as roommates as long as we had like separate everything yeah across the hallway um they

02:33:08 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 4:

so they are bianca told me this morning when uh we were setting up the show she said she's so happy that we all didn't go to lalapalooza that we would have probably hated it because she said that to get to the positioning of where they were for all the great social media how long did it take for olivia

02:33:25 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 3:

rodrigo for you to do this oh we waited like two hours in this like pit and just like wait in there

02:33:30 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 4:

it was you do that you would have died if i was two hours in anything that wasn't uh like a barbecue

02:33:36 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 3:

pit it wasn't me eating there was a dad though i would be so pissed what did you wait what did

02:33:43 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 4:

you have to do as far as peeing and and going to the bathroom and stuff um you don't pee you go

02:33:49 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 3:

before you go in there once you're in there you're in oh see that doesn't work for me anymore people

02:33:52 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 4:

wearing diapers though in there wow yeah i was i wasn't gonna do all that there's nobody i want to see that bad where i'm gonna do to him myself i i wouldn't do it literally like i'm not that deep i'm so happy that you guys went because you guys out of everybody on the show did such an amazing job i am so happy i didn't go i am like thanking god that i wasn't part of that thing i'll do it again it was fun the idea of having to be around that many people did you see that Olivia Rodrigo set a record. Really? It was the biggest festival performance of any artist as far as the amount of people that were there. Amanda, what's happening?

02:34:31 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Bianca, when you have guests stay over at your house, do you clean your sheets afterwards? Depends who it is. And it is so gross for what you did. I will defend you all day.

02:34:41 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, you don't clean your sheets, Bianca, after you have guests that sleep in a bed?

02:34:46 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 3:

No, only sometimes when I feel like it.

02:34:48 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you the grossest thing ever? I asked my college-age son how often he cleans his sheets, and I think he only cleaned his sheets like once a semester.

02:34:58 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:34:59 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

And.

02:35:00 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 6:

Had, like, people in those beds with him. You know what I mean? Like, that's not good. Seriously, you should be cleaning those things once a week or after somebody else sleeps in them. What's up, Sonia?

02:35:11 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo.

02:35:13 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:35:14 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 7:

How are you guys? I'm doing okay.

02:35:16 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 6:

Are we picking on Bianca too much, you think?

02:35:21 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 7:

No, I think you guys are a slut on because I am a germ freak also. I don't even let my husband sit on my bed if he has dirty clothes or, like, outside clothes.

02:35:32 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 6:

Good for you. Yeah, that's not good.

02:35:35 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 7:

Not even a hotel or at home.

02:35:38 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. When he comes home to take a nap, is he allowed to lay on the couch at least?

02:35:43 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

02:35:43 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 6:

Okay, the couch is better.

02:35:44 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 7:

He can lay on the bed, but he just has to be in his, you know, house clothes.

02:35:49 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. How often does he change his pajamas? Is it nightly? Because sometimes I'll actually find myself wearing, like, a pair of shorts and a T-shirt two days in a row. if you just sleep no but nightly yeah i probably should change and i sweat like a maniac sometimes um i was a little disappointed by the way to hear uh bianca and lydia's uh conversations about uh how our sister stations uh uh nobody came and said hi to them they only had a couple of people that came and said hi i was surprised to hear that fred didn't go and say hi to you guys that you didn't get a chance to meet the Fred show and stuff. I heard Jason Brown was great and Paulina was great.

02:36:29 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they were sweet. They were cool.

02:36:31 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 6:

But you guys did the whole show on Friday from there. And even the program director, James Howard, didn't come and say hi to you guys or anything?

02:36:39 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 3:

No, me and Lydia were making TikToks in their lobby and then he shut the door on us.

02:36:44 - 02:36:46 | Speaker 6:

Why, because you thought you guys were too noisy?

02:36:47 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we were just having fun, though. You saw the TikToks. We were having fun. We were having a good time.

02:36:50 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 6:

Can I tell you the thing that's so amazing? When people come to our Detroit studios to use them from other iHeart stations, we buy breakfast for them. We pull out the red carpet. We treat them like, hey, you're visiting our house.

02:37:04 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 1:

We give them all our headphones.

02:37:05 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 6:

I mean, seriously. Well, we do everything we can. Like, Anjali Yee was just recently here. Hold on, easy. And she, I mean, I was like, literally, she's treated like she's a bigger star than any artists that come in here.

02:37:17 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 1:

But that's what you do when you have guests. Yeah. But you welcome guests into your home.

02:37:20 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 5:

So this is what we should do. I was shocked. In October, when we go to Chicago for your Hall of Fame induction. Yes. We should potentially go on maybe a day or so earlier so we can broadcast live. Do a show and show them how it's done.

02:37:34 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 6:

Well, but I, you know, you don't ever want to go to anywhere you don't want to go. I know this. I know that one of the things that I love about this company is our leadership. Guys like Bob Pittman would, if he were, you know, coming, if we were going to his house, like when i've gone to new york to hang out with bob and done the show in new york bob is like welcome them with open arms and everybody you know uh you know treats it like you're honestly somebody you know what i mean i was like wow we're just from detroit and these guys are treating us like great so that was a bummer maybe they were just busy or something and that's why it ended up being that way but mark what did you want to say uh good morning guys i

02:38:13 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 8:

don't know what's going on with bianca but supposedly she's supposed to be part of social impact. Oh, she's making a social impact. Other people see that are other people's bad. She's calling other people's wives that they're cheating. I mean, she's making a social impact. You can chill.

02:38:35 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 4:

That is classic.

02:38:36 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, Mark.

02:38:38 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning on iHeartRadio.

02:38:41 - 02:38:41 | Unknown:

02:39:05 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay, this is getting crazy to me now. So Sydney Sweeney and this American Eagle jeans campaign that has caused so much controversy over the past week. discussions now about her political ties in regards to this.

02:39:20 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 4:

If Sidney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic. This morning, the controversy over Sidney Sweeney's American Eagle ad has reached the White House.

02:39:30 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 6:

My jeans are blue. Sidney Sweeney has her jeans.

02:39:33 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 4:

The ad gained attention last month for its play on the word jeans, as in denim pants, and jeans, as in genetics. Many saying it plays on the themes of eugenics.

02:39:42 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 2:

The American eugenics movement in its prime between like 1900 and 1940 weaponized the idea of good genes just to justify white supremacism. My genes are superior. And by that, I mean white with blonde hair.

02:39:59 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

But some say.

02:40:00 - 02:40:06 | Speaker 3:

that connection may be going too far that might be a bit of an overreaction although hitler did

02:40:06 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 4:

briefly model for mine comfort fit jeans as far as i'm concerned y'all be looking way too deep in

02:40:13 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 3:

the controversy has gone political pitting right wing the nonsense where you are not allowed to

02:40:21 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 2:

ever celebrate someone who is white and blonde and blue-eyed against left wing it's not that

02:40:28 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 1:

they want to see more white women it's that they want to see none of anyone else and now a second

02:40:34 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 3:

ad this time from duncan featuring actor gavin casaleno drawing similar scrutiny this tan genetics i just got my color analysis back guess what golden summer literally critics quickly noting the timing and drawing parallels to sweeney's campaign talking about genetics

02:40:54 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 1:

It's weird. It's weird.

02:40:55 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 3:

No comment from Duncan. But American Eagle is defending its ad, saying it is and always was about the jeans, her jeans, her story. Great jeans look good on everyone. American Eagle, the stock at least, soared after the ad came out. It's up about 5% since last month.

02:41:12 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and by the way, even the vice president, J.D. Vance, blasting the left, tweeting, They're trying to sell jeans to kids in America, and they have managed to unhinge themselves over this thing.

02:41:24 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 4:

I have not seen the Dunkin' commercial. Who's the guy that's in that commercial? Is it another actor or model or something? But I don't know. I feel like talk radio does this. Like, these people in these podcasters and stuff, they perpetuate something and try to keep on bringing it up that becomes a bigger topic so that they have, you know, content for their show. And they're the ones that are more outraged. Like, I think if you're a person that shops at American Eagle, are you not shopping at American Eagle because of Sidney Sweeney's commercial?

02:42:01 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 5:

Right. You know what I mean? I thought they were just trying to use her sex appeal.

02:42:05 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 4:

That's exactly what I thought it was.

02:42:06 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 5:

Like, when I first saw it, I was like, Honestly, there's a denim jumper I want. I saw it. Yeah.

02:42:12 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 8:

Okay, Jelly Roll making his WWE debut over the weekend, and teaming up with Randy Orton to battle Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2025.

02:42:20 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 7:

Here's your viral moment, everyone. And a splash through jelly roll through the announce table.

02:42:30 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 8:

By the way, hearing he trained hard for this thing, so hard, in fact, that his training contributed to his 230-pound now weight loss. Isn't that crazy?

02:42:40 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 4:

So this appearance is why he was training so much?

02:42:43 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 8:

Well, it was a lot of things. This was part of it. Okay. Remember, he wanted to do a marathon a couple of months ago. Like, there were a lot of different things he wanted to do. So, yeah. Chris Brown's ex, Karuchi Tran, appearing throughout a very emotional documentary about Deion Sanders' bladder cancer surgery. She was supporting him at his bedside. We talked about this last week. Their very visible closeness and her tears fueled dating rumors. Well, Deion, who is now cancer-free, has not confirmed any sort of relationship. And when asked about it during a podcast recently, this is how he responded.

02:43:17 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 7:

Don't kill the messenger. Everyone seen Karrueche by your side during your hospital visit. Everyone wants to know what that friendship is. We got a bad connection. I got a bad, I can't. You got to go. That's it. I came back.

02:43:34 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 4:

What is the age difference between the two of them? Oh, I don't know. That's a good question.

02:43:38 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 5:

I would say off the top of my head, 25 years. Yeah. Deion Sanders is 57, and Karrueche Tran is 37. Oh, that's not bad. It's not horrible, but yeah.

02:43:49 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 8:

And lastly, remember the story of the green sex toy that was thrown onto the court during the WNBA game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries? Well, that fan has been arrested. I don't know if he or she is facing any charges. I do know they will face a minimum one-year ban from any WNBA game.

02:44:11 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 4:

I think they should actually have, like, a green sex toy night. You know how? You're insane. Like, the first 10,000 people get a free green sex toy.

02:44:19 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 8:

02:46:33 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. Hello. cab had a a fun weekend i did he uh was hanging out with uh dr reynolds from reynolds orthodontics my amazing smile.com what a great guy love him love his kids great great dad um but you had to

02:46:57 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 3:

do a little sneaking i did so we had an incredible saturday just a good time like you said with great people who had some great food the night didn't stop there his friend lou has a family member that's in a band who performed at a bar so everybody went there afterwards then we came back to dr reynolds house had like a little movie night so the night was very very long i don't even know what time i went to sleep but when i wake up just naturally and where are you where are you going to sleep like in a chair oh at his house yeah yeah you slept at his house was that the plan that you were gonna it wasn't slumber party and stay overnight literally it wasn't the plan The plan was to go over Saturday, let the kids run around, have some fun, have some food, and then go home, wake up in the morning, go to church. But I went out later, saw his friend of the family playing at the bar. That took a couple hours. At that point, I'm letting my little cousin Amir drive. He's 18 years old. He's got his license. I'm like, I'm not even driving anymore because I'm at a point now where I'm going to have a little too much to drink. He lived about 45 minutes from me. So it's like, bro, we here for the night. Then they start talking about waking up in the morning and making breakfast. So it's like, oh, all right, I guess, yeah, let's, and Josiah's like, yes, let's wake up in the morning and have French toast and eggs. Like, let's do this. Bro, my body waking me up at like 8 o'clock. We fell back to sleep. Woke up about 9. I'm like, you know what? I need to go to church today. Wake up, Josiah. Wake up, Amir. I send Dr. Reynolds a text message like, hey, bro, I'm about to leave in 10. Like, hopefully he hears his phone ring or something like that. So I'm waiting around, waiting around. Nobody wakes up. His son is, like, sleeping in a chair next to me. I'm not about to wake his son up. Like, he's, like, eight years old, knocked out, sleeping on his stomach, snoring. I walk around the house a little bit, stop, just hoping that somebody would hear me walking or I could hear somebody else walking. You don't want to be the person, like, hey, good morning. Like, you're not going to yell at somebody else's house and try to wake him up. Yeah. So I got a mirror, got Josiah, wrote a little note on a napkin that I found and, like, had to leave. Wait a second.

02:48:56 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 4:

Had to leave. Just walked out. So you were sleeping over at his house. The intention was, in the morning, we'll make breakfast and do all this stuff. You're like, I got to get out of this place. You just left and walked out the door?

02:49:10 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 5:

What was my other option? Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I think you did the right thing. Did you lock the door behind you?

02:49:17 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes. What if he had like an alarm on or something like that? And the alarm started going off.

02:49:22 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what I would have checked out. I just moved my hands in my face.

02:49:24 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 5:

It's not that he's questioning you coming from the man who, one, would have left before the movie even started, and two, would have left in the middle of the night if you woke up.

02:49:32 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 4:

Here's the deal. This is a difference. You can do an Irish goodbye, but you can't do it when you're staying the night at a person's house. If you're at a party and there's all these other people that are there, you're the only person that's hanging out there. You and your family and all those people.

02:49:49 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

When I'm up and ready to go home, I am ready to go home. But that's my thing. Like, I would have loved to stay, have breakfast like we planned the night before. I needed to go to church. Church started at 11.

02:49:59 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:50:00 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 4:

9 40 when I leave how long am I supposed to wait around all right etiquette question if somebody stays at your house if you have guests that come stay at your house shouldn't the guest at least say goodbye to you or can they just leave if I was him yeah I would think you robbed him

02:50:16 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

I would have thought oh my god what's missing because like in my mind I'm like when are they going to wake up and am I literally just staying just so I can have the face-to-face goodbye Because at that point, we'd had a long night.

02:50:31 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 4:

Dr. Reynolds, check and see if your fine china is still there.

02:50:35 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Can I also say something? I think it's better in this situation for a guest to just get up and leave. Because sometimes, like the morning after you've had a night, you wake up and you're like, I don't, I don't, how long, now how long am I going to have this person in my house for today?

02:50:50 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to entertain anymore.

02:50:52 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 4:

I want to rest. Hold on a second. Do you think Dr. Reynolds is around? Oh, of course. Hold on. Have you talked to him since then? I have, yeah. Okay, so what was he like when you talked to him?

02:51:01 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he was good. He was okay with it. He was? Yeah, we got plans to link back up this week.

02:51:06 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 4:

So wait a second. So it wasn't like him thinking a little bit weird about you just taking off?

02:51:11 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so.

02:51:13 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 4:

Wait, hold on. Why is that? I think he would have told me. Wait, wait, wait. What just happened to my phone? What happened? Bianca, I'm on that line.

02:51:20 - 02:51:21 | Unknown:

Sorry.

02:51:22 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 4:

Here, hang up on it. I'm telling you, Lydia can never take a day off again. Actually, Bianca, you did a great job today. I'm not going to lie to you.

02:51:31 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 5:

It's fine. You don't have to tell the truth just to make me happy.

02:51:34 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 4:

No. It's only been the last hour. Oh, son of a gun. What am I doing here?

02:51:39 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 2:

Is it a freeze?

02:51:40 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 4:

No, it's a stupid phone system here. I'm trying to dial up Dr. Reynolds here. I want to know what his etiquette thoughts were on this one here. You know? I want to know if he thinks that Kevin was as rude. You got to go. You got to go.

02:51:58 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 2:

Aren't you that way, though, Mojo? When you wake up in the morning and you had guests, you're like, oh, my gosh, now what if he stays all day today?

02:52:03 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, I do think that. And I actually think, oh, God, like, when are they going to leave? But I at least want them to say goodbye to me. You know what I mean? I want them, you know, I want at least to, you know, hey.

02:52:15 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 3:

And look, in a perfect world, that's what would have happened.

02:52:19 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Jamie, how are you? Hey, man, what's going on? Listen, I want you to go through the security cameras and see how many things Kevin stole from your house.

02:52:32 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 5:

Well, he left his Pistons out there.

02:52:35 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 2:

So I leave. We can come back.

02:52:39 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 4:

Dr. Reynolds from Reynolds Orthodontics. Otherwise, our good friend Jamie Reynolds here. Quick question for you. What did you think when you woke up in the morning and Kevin and Josiah and what's the mirror? Amir, we're gone.

02:52:50 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 5:

well i uh i woke up and they were there still um but uh then i was like well i'm going back because we were up a little bit late yeah honest and then they were gone he did the same thing i

02:53:06 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 4:

did i'm telling you he got out of that place as fast as he possibly could he was taking off as fast as he can did he at least did he at least like leave uh i don't know a mint on the pillow

02:53:19 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 5:

for you uh hold the blankets yeah yeah wait hey did you find my note i did yeah i let i let you

02:53:29 - 02:53:36 | Speaker 4:

like uh yeah what did he write what did you write on uh thanks for everything no no i know what did

02:53:36 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 3:

you write on though like you had to go through his drawers no no that's the thing so i'm looking around i'm like is there a piece of paper anywhere is there a pen amir found a pen i don't know where he found a pen but he found a pen couldn't find a piece of paper so i ripped off a piece of paper towel and try to like scribble at first and i'm like where can i put it so that they'll see it

02:53:54 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 4:

you know what this reminds me of we need to do a second date update

02:53:58 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 5:

this is this reminds me this was the second day we had our first date a year ago

02:54:03 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 4:

but this reminds me of how every guy leaves a girl's house if he goes and spends the night at her house he just like takes off out of the house you can't wake up the people who are sleeping There's no right way to go about it. Hey, Courtney, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Say hi, Courtney, to Dr. Reynolds here on the phone with us.

02:54:22 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, everyone. Good morning, Dr. Reynolds. Good morning. I just wanted to say I think if you fell asleep in a chair, you're allowed to do what Kevin did. Okay. Because I think that unless it was like a planned hangout, there's no Irish way. It's just the night kept going and it kept getting good, and then the morning started. And it's like, at that point, are you overstaying your welcome?

02:54:45 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 4:

So if Jamie would have put him in a guest room, you know, with pillow, blanket, and all the rest of that stuff, he's got to stay at least until the family's up for the morning, right?

02:54:57 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if he's in a guest room, sure. But I also think...

02:55:00 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 4:

The biggest thing is he didn't plan to sleep over. It just sounded like the night kept going. Okay. And, you know, if I were Kev, I would have done the same thing. I don't want to make, like, they entertain me all night. They have to entertain me in the morning, too. Yeah. That's why. Yeah.

02:55:13 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 3:

You're trying to not overstay your welcome. What's up, Mystery? How you doing?

02:55:17 - 02:55:17 | Unknown:

Mystery.

02:55:18 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 4:

Not too bad. I was just wondering, is the doctor going to wash the sheets that Kevin and them slept on?

02:55:24 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 3:

That's a good one. We got to make sure we fumigate after that. By the way, what was the band, and who was the band, and where did you guys go? What bar did you guys end up going to? Who performed?

02:55:38 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 4:

A friend of ours, his name is Lou. His cousin was the lead singer, so we went up there to support him and his family.

02:55:44 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 3:

Where did you guys go, Jamie?

02:55:46 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 4:

We went to Uptown.

02:55:47 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's Kevin's favorite place. It was the first time I've been here in a long time, too.

02:55:52 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 3:

Did he order salmon when he was there, the drunken salmon?

02:55:57 - 02:56:00 | Speaker 4:

There was no salmon order, no. There was drunken.

02:56:04 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, Amanda. We'd like to make a comment here. Amanda, what's happening, Amanda? Hi. Hi, good morning. Kev, I think if you leave a note and do something nice like their dishes or just take their trash out, I think you should just all be forgiven. Did you wake up to a clean sink? I missed those last two parts. That is very, by the way, that would be the most hospitable thing that you could possibly do.

02:56:29 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 2:

I cleaned my plate, though. Jamie can make some steaks.

02:56:31 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell you that. Jamie, it's good to talk to you, buddy.

02:56:36 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Hey, likewise. Hey, let me just say that Josiah and Amir are two of the smartest, nicest, most polite young kids you'll ever meet. So thanks for bringing them over.

02:56:44 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 3:

What about Kevin, though?

02:56:49 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 1:

Noticeably absent from that compliment.

02:56:51 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 4:

That's his moment.

02:56:54 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:57:10 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I got to tell you, real quick, can I do a quick, just a little topic? I've been wanting to do it, and I feel like if I don't do it today, it's not worth doing it. so i was telling you earlier this morning about how went out drank too much friend ended up throwing up on another friend's driveway right which you can see the picture on our instagram oh great that's what everybody wants to see the stained picture here's here's another funny thing that happened so my friend spent the night he actually slept in uh joe's room joe's old room and uh the next morning woke up and i took him back to the bar that we were at and as we were leaving my house to go to the bar to go get his car because we were all very responsible we had an Uber taking us to and from and stuff okay so let me get through the rest of the story because I don't want anybody thinking I'm like we're drunk driving as we're driving to the bar he goes and fills his pockets and he goes oh crap I don't have my keys and I go well did you leave him in my house and he goes oh no no I valeted my car the night before at the bar he had valet parked his car we left and went to a friend's house he left his car at the valet all night so here's the craziest part as we're driving back to this bar i'm thinking there's the place isn't even open there's no valet that's there oh my god like what's gonna happen so we're driving just because we're figured you know well we'll at least go there and see if there's anybody like a manager or cleanup crew or somebody that's going to be there we pull into the bar and his car is parked next to the curb at the front and his keys are sitting on the

02:58:50 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 2:

dashboard. Stop it right now. That's it. I got to go. We're like visible. You can see these keys. He left his keys in the car right there. But also, thank God. At least put him in the seat though.

02:59:02 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? Don't put him on the dash. So here is the question I wanted to ask valets. I want to know if there are any valets listening. What do you do when somebody doesn't get their car? If somebody doesn't pick up their car, like, you know how many times people go to places and they get drunk and they end up getting an Uber, they forget, like my friend did, to actually go and get the keys to his car and put the car in a parking spot or whatever the deal is. What do you do in that case? Here was a valet that just left the keys. I gotta go. I gotta go home.

02:59:35 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 2:

Is that not hysterical? I think they did the right thing. My only thing would be put the keys in the seat or put them like in the armrest. Don't put them on a dash for everybody But could you imagine, God forbid, the car gets stolen and then it's the ballet's fault.

02:59:52 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

That was great. Honestly, I would want my car to get stolen so I had the day go longer, you know?

03:00:00 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Like, y'all needed the night to eat. Like, it was honestly one of those things where, tell me that that story would not be the greatest story. So we went out, and we lost the car. Oh, my God. Like, I have no clue. Well, at that point, it's not even stolen. It's a free car. My favorite part of driving there to go get the car was when he couldn't find the keys, and he literally goes, oh, yeah, valet. If you could have seen my face when that happened, my face was, are you effing kidding me? It wasn't funny? It was at one point I'm going, because listen, it was one of those days. I was tired from the night before, and I knew he had to go and he had to get home. But all I kept thinking to myself was, this day's never going to end. This thing's going on forever. Hey, Mike, what's going on? How are you? Good, how are you? Good, buddy. What's happening? We're talking about what happens if somebody doesn't pick up their car from the valet.

03:00:50 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 3:

So what happened to me once at the end of my shift, the guy wasn't coming, so I just took the car home. It was a nice Mercedes. You did not. I took it home. You did? And then the next day when I came back to work, they fired me. Wow. Done. He stole his car.

03:01:09 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, what is he supposed to do? Leave him there.

03:01:13 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 3:

I waited an hour and a half after my shift. He wasn't coming, so I'm like, you know what? He's probably not going to come. Let me just use it. They come back and no one's going to load it. What would you have done if you would have gotten into an accident? Hey, I hope he has insurance. You ain't on it?

03:01:29 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mike, be honest. How much fun was it driving around in that thing?

03:01:34 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 3:

All I know is he needs new tires. You know he ain't going straight home.

03:01:40 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 1:

That is beautiful. Thank you for the call, bud. Hello, folks. Yeah.

03:01:44 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

I've been a long-time listener, first-time calling. Oh, my God, let's go.

03:01:51 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 1:

And please tell me that you're no longer valeting anymore, right?

03:01:55 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 3:

No, no, that's it. I wrapped it up, man. I retired. All right.

03:01:58 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate you, buddy. Take care, Mike. We'll see you. Mojo on the Morning Show. Shannon, you're going to look at a new house today, huh?

03:02:07 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Wes and I. Not that we're, like, looking, actively looking, but if we see something that would be a good fit for us that we could own together, because right now we're in, you know, the house that I've been in for the past 10 years, So it's been a topic of discussion lately. And so we're going, we actually have like a showing that we're going to a little bit later on this afternoon. But yesterday we had some free time. And so Wes was like, let's go over to the neighborhood and at least drive and see the house in person and drive through the neighborhood and see if we even like the neighborhood and the outside of the house or whatnot. And so we get there and I knew from the photos online that I've seen from the listing, it doesn't look like anybody lives in this house. there's not any there's no furniture whatsoever except for a couch and then some like random

03:02:59 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 1:

stuff in the kitchen it's not a bad idea to sell it to like for the because now you know they need

03:03:04 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 2:

to sell it right because there's no sure there's no furniture the the story that i've made up in my head is that the people who built the house died in it because it's never had a different owner and there's like a son or a daughter that's trying to get rid of this okay okay so we go into the driveway and I said to Wes let me out of the car I want to go and like walk around the back and see the backyard and he's like you cannot do that and I'm like there's nobody freaking here who cares I want to see what you know what kind of shape the backyard is in and how much work this house needs so I walk around the house and it's quiet like it is deserted and then I'm like I want to see what the inside looks like ahead of tomorrow so I go through and I'm peering through the windows empty empty again except for a couch i'm peering through one of the windows in the front by the front door and all of a sudden i see a guy walk down the staircase so i don't know if

03:03:58 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 1:

someone he's living in the house with no furniture if someone's sleeping on the couch or i mean

03:04:02 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

according according to the photos no but can i tell you it scared the crap out of me the weirdest

03:04:10 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 1:

thing is have you do you ever uh do the because now there's not as many homes for sale as there has been have you ever seen a house or looked at a house and go god i'd love to have that house or that's a great area or whatever and people will go up to the door and like leave a note saying hey if you ever want to sell your house that's been happening to us lately okay yes so so here's an interesting one a buddy of mine had that where he wanted to go and do this to the house so he said oh, it doesn't look like they're home, I'll leave the note, but then also I want to look in the house, looks inside the house and literally sees two eyeballs looking right out at it. That's kind of what this guy was walking around the street.

03:04:48 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he looked right at me. I ran back to the car so quick, and I was like, go, go, go, go, go, go. And they had a gravel driveway, so it was like peeled out of the driveway and makes so much noise.

03:05:00 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 4:

Question for listeners, do you have, like, randos that sit there and will just walk up to your house? You ever have neighbors that do this? We had some neighbors that were walking their dog, and literally I could see on our camera, like with the ring camera, I could see people, like, walking up and looking in, and they were looking into our garage window, like, inside there. Wow, that's weird, bro. But they had their dog and stuff. I think they were just trying to see, like, you know, what it's like, but I don't know. That's weird.

03:05:25 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 5:

I've never lived in a house that was nice enough for people to walk by and want to look in, let alone leave a note saying, Sally, give us a call.

03:05:33 - 03:05:42 | Speaker 2:

But I'm sure if you've ever had your house up for sale that people like me, and I'm blaming myself, are bold and they want to see what it looks like.

03:05:42 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 4:

The worst part of selling your house is not the people that are going to try to buy it. It's your neighbors that are nosy and want to see what the house looks like. Yeah, that's all you end up getting is you get like the nosy neighbors that are like, oh, let's go see what the Johnson's home looks like, you know?

03:05:58 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 5:

I even do that in an apartment. If I see somebody's door open, I walk a little slower. No, you do not. To look inside? Some people, I like to see it's different. Layouts, I like to see how they decorate it.

03:06:07 - 03:06:12 | Speaker 4:

Do you do that when you're staying in a hotel and you see people like- Okay, I do that all the time. Do you really?

03:06:12 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Why do we do that? Because I'm like, ooh, that room's so much nicer than mine.

03:06:16 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 4:

Are you guys like peeping Toms? No, that's your thing. I feel like you're peeping sounds. Hey, Mojo in the morning, hello. Hi. How you doing? Who's this? I would like to comment. My name is Louie. Oh, wait. Your name is Oh-way?

03:06:31 - 03:06:32 | Speaker 5:

No, Louie.

03:06:32 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Louie. Louie. Like Louie, Louie. Sure, you can sing for me a little bit. Oh, no. All right, go ahead, Louie. So I'm an inspector. I recently bought a house, too. um in livonia but i had to do whatever shannon did so i used to go sneak around look at it and see what's uh what needs to be done uh future wise so i did it do you ever have a guy with a gun pointed at you no um not really i i would be worried about that i'd be worried about you know doing there's some there's some places i wouldn't be doing that with you got some guy you know staring right at you what's up britney how you doing good morning um so i am in polk

03:07:25 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 3:

county florida which if you know our sheriff he is no oh yeah you don't mess around with him

03:07:30 - 03:07:37 | Speaker 4:

he's a character grady grady something or another right grady judd he is yeah he just does not

03:07:37 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 3:

tolerate anything so um recently i had a listing over in davenport and the buyer's agents just decided to walk around the house do what shannon did peek through the windows he was like oh it looks empty from the pictures they live there they're just very like they don't have anything out they don't have any like features or anything in their house so it just looks a little plain so the buyer's agent did that and the seller came running across the house with his gun in his hand and we have the footage of i'm sorry i shouldn't laugh at this but it was really funny but we have the footage of the buyer's agent running to his car and like peeling out like shannon did because He was so afraid, but it's like, yeah, you don't do that. It's a simple county. You got to be careful. I think the seller works for the FBI. So like he was like, he called the police immediately. He got him trespassed. Like, yeah, just please be careful. Oh my God.

03:08:22 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 2:

No, for sure. You're right. Trust me. I learned my lesson. I was so certain that this house was like, yeah, totally vacant. And I was wrong.

03:08:31 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Brittany, there's also, there's also another funny thing because of Polk County is not that far from Tampa. Joe Show showed me that Tampa realtor that does really funny listening videos. Oh, my God.

03:08:44 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Is it Tampa Green?

03:08:45 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 4:

I think so, yeah. She's hysterical.

03:08:47 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love her. She is hysterical. But that's, like, these are the things that we have to do down here because people are so wild. And, like, if you're, Mojo, I'm just saying, if you're looking for a house down here, go do it. But be careful because you never know. No, I'm not even saying for me. You're going to call Brittany. I'm just saying. I love it. Because, I mean, like, if you want to be closer to Disney. But I'm just saying, please be careful because you never, like, even we don't know if somebody, like, living in the house like we have to be very very careful so that's all yeah thank you for the call

03:09:11 - 03:09:22 | Speaker 1:

i appreciate it i love you guys bye all right take care of yourself yeah i spend a lot of time looking at million dollar homes i can't afford on zillow especially for somebody that eats generic

03:09:22 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 4:

cereal this is mojo in the morning her voice creeps me out i gotta get rid of those ones like where did they i know what was that what's her name you had to give her a name i don't know Miranda. It does. It's like a ronda. It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning. All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went out on a date? Miranda is on the phone with us right now. Miranda, you're being ghosted. Is that what I understand?

03:09:53 - 03:09:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

03:09:55 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

So tell us, you went out with this guy. You went out with a guy named Nick.

03:10:00 - 03:10:08 | Speaker 3:

and you thought that everything was okay, and then you didn't hear a word from him afterwards?

03:10:09 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we first met at the gym. I mean, he seemed like he just seemed great. Like, I just, I don't know. And then we went to, like, one of my favorite bars, and that was really fun. And, you know, I asked him to hang out, and he just keeps flaking on me. So it's like, guys, don't flake on me.

03:10:32 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you see him at the gym, or is he flaking on you there, too? Is he not at the gym anymore?

03:10:40 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 4:

I haven't run into him in, like, the last week. So I haven't seen him.

03:10:46 - 03:10:51 | Speaker 3:

And he's not. Are you trying to text him aside from calling him, and he's not responding?

03:10:52 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a few times. Not, like, crazy, but a few times.

03:10:56 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. We're going to find out what's going on. He's on the phone with us right now. Nick, will you say hello to Miranda?

03:11:03 - 03:11:06 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Miranda. Morning. Hey.

03:11:07 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 3:

I liked your hi, Miranda. It actually was very energetic. Are you happy to hear from Miranda, Nick? By the way, that doesn't sound like I'm happy to hear from a Miranda. Sounds lethargic.

03:11:21 - 03:12:34 | Speaker 2:

you know uh so the the conversation was you know pretty good on the date uh i thought the vibes were decent um i just i don't know i felt i felt uncomfortable honestly like where were you what made you what made you feel uncomfortable well uh i did a little homework as we all do on the you know on a first before a first date i should say um and i'm pretty sure i was being used um i i don't know i just i it seemed weird the date seemed at first it seemed cool and then it seemed off um i i think i'm pretty sure her boyfriend her ex-boyfriend was there and i was kind of being used why why do you think that her ex-boyfriend was there how would you even know that was my ex how would you even know well come on it's 2025 i did my homework i saw that you're not a crazy person or at least i thought and i don't know it just i i saw that your ex was there

03:12:34 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 1:

yeah like at the place working or at the place hanging out and also again you didn't answer the question like you just saw a picture of him on what social media yeah and her posture

03:12:50 - 03:12:56 | Speaker 2:

sort of was facing him the entire time i saw him when we walked in and i didn't think anything of

03:12:56 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 3:

it wait and then i noticed too much miranda was your ex-boyfriend at the bar that you guys were at

03:13:05 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 4:

all right first of all i just want to say that it's weird it's weird that you're like social media stalking me so like we met in life at the gym we met in life at the gym we didn't

03:13:21 - 03:13:29 | Speaker 3:

meet on an app right but wait miranda you didn't answer the question was your ex-boyfriend at the

03:13:29 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 4:

bar that night that you guys went out well he might have been but i it's not like i was not my posture was not no no stop for one second yes or no how is it that you how is it that he might

03:13:42 - 03:13:59 | Speaker 3:

have been was he there or was he there was he not there you know if he was there well he was there for a little while and then he left and you and he showed up there and you never said anything at all to nick like hey my ex-boyfriend is here well i didn't want to make it weird and we were having

03:13:59 - 03:14:05 | Speaker 4:

like a really good time and like we were talking and stuff nick question for you my boyfriend

03:14:05 - 03:14:34 | Speaker 3:

was she talking to the ex-boyfriend no but there was a there was too much of her awareness was on him and that's what made you realize when she was focused on this guy that came into the bar and then at that point did you then start deep diving or you already did enough deep diving before you went out on a date with her to realize that that guy was her ex i mean it wasn't even a deep

03:14:34 - 03:14:40 | Speaker 2:

dive i just you know scrolled a little bit looked at some posts whatever i don't think that's

03:14:40 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 3:

anything anyone doesn't do i agree with you we all do that but what i mean though is did you then see the guy and go oh that guy looks like a guy i saw on her you know uh instagram he he was all over it okay so okay so that's okay so that's not as weird as if all of a sudden he starts going

03:15:00 - 03:15:20 | Speaker 4:

to the Instagram and starts looking at it he's looked beforehand he's done a little research and then realized that this guy was the guy that she had been in a date with now what's wrong though I don't see there anything wrong at all with you're gonna run into sometimes people and sometimes I don't know where you know where you guys are from but I'm thinking if you're in a

03:15:20 - 03:15:39 | Speaker 1:

small town or whatever I see my ex out all the time yeah but you said that like you think that you were being used so are you thinking that she knew that he was going to be there or gave him a heads up that that he was going to be there she's going to be there why did you make that comment

03:15:40 - 03:16:04 | Speaker 3:

i would i can't say that she did that for sure or knew that he was going to be there or didn't there it was just too convenient and there was it's not that she wasn't even and something was off. And her attention was on me, but not, you know, it was almost like she was posing for a camera, like a candid camera somewhere.

03:16:05 - 03:16:08 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. Dwayne wants to make a comment. Dwayne, what did you want to say?

03:16:10 - 03:16:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, Mundo. She did him dirty. She knew that her ex-boyfriend was going to be there. She did him dirty to make her boyfriend jealous. She slipped up. She actually just said, my boyfriend, and she stopped, and she actually, like, muted herself.

03:16:24 - 03:16:27 | Speaker 3:

Caught that. I heard that, too. Heard that, too.

03:16:28 - 03:16:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. I don't, I didn't do anyone dirty. There's no dirty. We went on a date, and I really liked you, honestly, and, like, now I want to go out again, and now I'm, like, being accused of stuff. Like, we had a good time on the date. If you were so paranoid the whole time, why wouldn't you just say so on the date? And I didn't do anyone dirty, dude.

03:16:48 - 03:16:54 | Speaker 4:

hey why did you not nick say to her when you guys were out like hey who's this guy over here that

03:16:54 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 3:

you're paying so much attention to well here's my thing if it wasn't an issue if i'm her and i saw my ex out i would have said something like oh my ex is here do you want to go i don't want to make you feel uncomfortable something like that but but the fact that that guy was there the whole time and nothing was said about it and he was in plain sight but you know like like address the elephant you know i didn't want to make it weird it's only an elephant if you know about it and nick if she's

03:17:31 - 03:17:36 | Speaker 4:

not paying any attention to him or going over and talking to him i don't think it matters uh wendy

03:17:36 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 2:

wants to comment what's up wendy hi hey it's these guys are tripping it sounds like he has ptsd from a bad date or something if i run into my ex out i'm not gonna make an announcement i'm not gonna

03:17:51 - 03:18:03 | Speaker 4:

oh guess what there's my ex nick nick wendy brings up an interesting point wendy i liked what you said nick did you have like a bad past relationship where the girl wasn't over her ex

03:18:03 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 3:

and this is bringing back a little bit of that thankfully no uh it was just too many things too many coincidences it seems like. She kept looking, quick glances in his direction. I understand

03:18:18 - 03:18:30 | Speaker 4:

that, but what I'm wondering is if this is reminding you of a past relationship and you're saying, I don't want a part of this anymore. Somebody that still is hung up on their ex. But just

03:18:30 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 1:

because she sees him, that doesn't mean that.

03:18:33 - 03:18:36 | Speaker 4:

That's a lot. That's a big strike. Who picked the place?

03:18:38 - 03:18:44 | Speaker 3:

Take a guess. Did she do it on purpose

03:18:44 - 03:18:49 | Speaker 4:

Miranda did you do it on purpose Did you pick that place

03:18:49 - 03:18:58 | Speaker 7:

No no no It's like we both know that bar Like it's a place that I like a lot That I have gone to

03:18:58 - 03:19:02 | Speaker 4:

When you say we both like it a lot Is it you and Nick or you and your ex-boyfriend

03:19:02 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god No To be fair I do know the bar and I do like it

03:19:07 - 03:19:10 | Speaker 4:

You do like it okay Aaron wants to comment. Aaron, what's up?

03:19:11 - 03:19:16 | Speaker 5:

I'm on Nick's side, and I agree with Dwayne that Miranda did Nick dirty.

03:19:17 - 03:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Thank you, Aaron. Aaron, let me ask you a question, though. Aaron, quick question for you, though. Miranda kind of sounds cute. Wouldn't you think that this would be just okay for Nick to kind of give her a chance?

03:19:31 - 03:19:32 | Speaker 5:

A second chance? Yeah.

03:19:32 - 03:19:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, he did a dirty, but give her a second chance. Give her a second chance.

03:19:37 - 03:19:38 | Speaker 3:

Quick flip there, Aaron.

03:19:38 - 03:19:53 | Speaker 4:

Nick, I think Nick and Miranda, there's something to them. They just have this energy about them. They're arguing right off the bat. They've only been with each other for one date, and they're getting this worked up over it. Michelle, what are your thoughts?

03:19:54 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 7:

I think she is way too defensive. Absolutely. Obviously, something was going on.

03:20:00 - 03:20:13 | Speaker 1:

on um it could have been some kind of kink thing him seeing her out with another guy you know i hate to say it but she's way too defensive for you know not having people pay for that

03:20:13 - 03:20:34 | Speaker 5:

wait she's she's uh not just trying to make her ex jealous she's got a kink thing going on They're still together, this is the thing. What's up, Frank? Hi. How you doing? You know, I'm kind of honestly in a little bit of a twilight zone right now with these two guys. What are your thoughts?

03:20:35 - 03:20:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my thoughts are, like, we're chastising this guy. But if the roles were reversed and you're not paying attention to her or you went somewhere that reminded you of someone else or you went to a favorite spot, this guy would be roasted.

03:20:51 - 03:21:08 | Speaker 5:

You know what, Frank? We've learned this with the second date update. It's always a double standard. When the women do something wrong, the guys never, ever, ever can actually make out like the women do when the guy does something wrong. There is a double standard.

03:21:08 - 03:21:12 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. This guy seems to be sincere to some degree. Legit.

03:21:12 - 03:21:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Hold on. And somebody that actually is in favor of Miranda would like to make a comment, and that is Faith. Hi, Faith. What do you mean you're in favor of Miranda?

03:21:25 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 1:

Howdy. I think that Miranda probably didn't intentionally set up this situation, but I think that when it's commenting towards, like, lanterns and stuff, it seems like there may be unresolved feelings and some healing that needs to go on there.

03:21:40 - 03:21:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So it wasn't purposely done, but it happened and it just needed to be acknowledged.

03:21:45 - 03:21:59 | Speaker 1:

no that's a good point because i've actually been in a similar situation with my boyfriend of four years when we first met we were out i was so invested with the conversation that i didn't notice my ex had showed up and he was like hey isn't that your ex and i was like uh let's get

03:21:59 - 03:22:05 | Speaker 5:

out of here well he at least pointed that's what i was waiting for yeah yeah when you're invested

03:22:05 - 03:22:11 | Speaker 1:

in the person you don't notice that that toxicity has showed up in your periphery and then get out

03:22:11 - 03:22:13 | Speaker 5:

of that. All right, second date update.

03:22:13 - 03:22:22 | Speaker 4:
