Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:26 - 00:00:45 | Speaker 2:

Live. Mojo. let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to

00:00:45 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat mojo in the morning show so uh chelis is throwing a party for me um which is uh honestly awesome because she did this a couple years back and it was set up that she kind of misunderstood the uh the hall of fame thing when i got nominated for the hall of fame i think she's like oh this is unbelievable you're gonna get into the hall of fame it's so cool but she didn't realize that you get have to get voted into it okay and so she's like i'm throwing a party and she planned it she booked the place to have it and i you know everything was all set up and then she's like i just want to tell you that i'm having this party for you and we ended up looking at each other going oh boy wait a second is this a good idea or not because if you don't get in what do you do now right you're having a party for losing the hall of fame well we did it was a fun party the best part of the whole party was the the fact that i became the butt of jokes like you know what i mean like when people were making toasts like paul corvino paul corvino comes up he's our old boss that uh left detroit now he runs the world i guess right out of la he's running iheart basically um paul corvino goes this is the only thing that mojo's

00:02:10 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 4:

ever lost oh my god i mean there's there is something for being nominated though that was cool i mean a lot of people don't get nominated my only thing with this party is i thought originally it was supposed to be a surprise oh no no like so did i know about yeah yeah no so she

00:02:26 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 3:

no it i hate surprise parties i really do because i'd like to be prepared for a surprise party but also i think that uh we just got so much other stuff going on right now too that i would hate it if she had to put that on her to do it like a surprise party the surprise might be when stevie b comes out to perform would you die well i joked with her about that and i feel that i feel bad because I think she feels like, oh, God, what's going on? She needs to get Stevie B. Because she actually contacted Boji, DJ Boji, who's done, he's going to DJ the party, by the way. Show Boji. He's the best. But Boji knows Stevie B, and he found out that Stevie B has actually got an appearance that night, I believe, in Chelsea's hometown of Tucson, Arizona, of all things. Oh, man.

00:03:07 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 5:

Are people still hiring Stevie B for stuff?

00:03:09 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Stevie B, by the way, gets hired for Chaldean parties all the time. Really? Yeah, it's crazy.

00:03:14 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 4:

You must see him soon.

00:03:15 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 3:

For anybody that doesn't know, spring love, come back to me.

00:03:19 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 4:

You might see him at Shannon Doerr.

00:03:20 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he might be there at a wedding or something. So, Chelsea is throwing this party. I got yesterday a text message. Paul Corvino's coming in for the party. No, he's not. And he wasn't even invited.

00:03:34 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 4:

Are you being for real? He doesn't need to invite. The way you all talk about him, he doesn't need to invite. Have you not met Paul, have you? Did he come to Jingle Ball? Like Usher Jingle Ball?

00:03:42 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, he wasn't at that. I don't know if I've ever met him. And Paul Corvino, the most interesting man in radio, he's like the guy that used to be the guy that was the most interesting man in the world. Yeah, Dos Equis. The Dos Equis guy. He kind of reminds you of that guy. He looks like him. But no, so it's not that we didn't want to invite Paul, but I figured I don't want to invite anybody from out of town. I told Chelsea, don't invite family because we're going to do something in Chicago in October when the induction happens. And I said, I don't want to even invite friends. Like she did last time, she invited a bunch of people and they came into town. It just becomes so much of having to hang out with people. I just want to have fun at the party. But also, I don't want people to feel like it's like a wedding. You have to feel like you travel for an out-of-town thing. Well, Paul Carvino's tax yesterday. He and Sarah are coming in. So Sarah, his beautiful girlfriend, which I'm happier that she's coming than I am that he's coming. Do you feel that? It'll be his first time seeing the studios that he built. He built these studios. Wow, okay.

00:04:35 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's a homecoming. Do you feel that's an interesting thing you brought up about that feeling of obligation to hang out with people who come from out of town? Like, yes, they're coming for the party, but do you feel like you've got to lend more time outside the party?

00:04:48 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 3:

Kind of. Yeah, you kind of feel like because they spent all this money traveling, and in a lot of cases, I like people to stay at my house. I don't know if EJ is – I did invite EJ. He's the only out-of-towner that I invited. And my sons, if they wanted to come.

00:05:01 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 4:

If they wanted to. What are you talking about?

00:05:04 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, my sons can't come. So Joe has something going on. Cancel it. And then Jacob has something going on.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 4:

Cancel it.

00:05:10 - 00:05:11 | Unknown:

For real?

00:05:11 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Are they just, do you think they're just telling me? No, no. They've got to be the lions.

00:05:14 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 3:

No, honestly, I don't believe that they're coming. And honestly, I don't want them to because of the things that they had going on were very important. Okay. But long story short, I only invited one out-of-town person. Here's the most interesting part with these things. First off, Evite sucks. I think that Evite, poor Chelsea has had so many issues with these Evites because she'll send the Evites to people, and some people have gotten the invitation, and some people have not gotten the invitation. But the interesting thing is if you look at the Evite, which I think all of you can see some of the people that are invited, if you look at the Evite, it shows it's delivered, but a lot of people say that they haven't seen it or gotten it. Like Alicia Bailey from sales said that she never got the invite, but she knows she's invited because I said to her, you're invited and told her about the party. And also she was helping with the list because we're having a bunch of clients that are going to be there to like good friends of the show that that you hear us talk about in our advertisements and stuff. So that's that thing sucks. And I feel bad. So that's caused a little stress for Chelsea. The other thing is interesting is there's been a couple of things where I don't know if they just didn't understand this or what. But Colleen, our boss, only in she only did an RSVP for herself. So I said something to Chelsea about that. Like, that seems weird. So Chelsea, I think, reached out to Lydia. And Lydia, did you have a conversation? And by the way, welcome back to Lydia.

00:06:43 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Lydia. Looking beautiful. You made it. New hair.

00:06:47 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Lydia's like, it's the typical Chaldean woman thing. She still has her hair and makeup done from the wedding that she went to last night. Her stuff, you look beautiful today after Lollapalooza.

00:06:59 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what a great time. But no, Colleen texted me and she said, am I supposed to have a plus one to this? She's like, I just marked myself down as going alone because I felt like I didn't know if I could bring my husband with me.

00:07:12 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

The invitations did just say, like mine did just say Shannon Whitlam, my real ass, Shannon Whitlam on it. But it gives you the option to act. It does.

00:07:21 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't give you a limit.

00:07:22 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

It does, but I was like, I feel like I'm allowed to bring that.

00:07:25 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, absolutely. Like your spouses are definitely invited, especially if you're the boss. Like the boss definitely should bring a spouse. So I said to her, I go, you got to bring Matt. So I make sure that he comes to the party.

00:07:35 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

I love that she only RSVP'd for herself, though.

00:07:38 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I know. And honestly, she spends probably way too much time at work, and it'd be good for Matt to have some fun, too, and enjoy it. The other one that's funny is some people have actually reached out to me to invite themselves. Have you ever had a party and had some people that called you up and said, hey, I hear you're having a party? And they're like, yeah. And I'm thinking, oh, God, I wonder if Chelsea invited them. And I realize, oh, I don't think she did. and they're like, hey, my invite must have gotten lost, but I'm available.

00:08:14 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 4:

Are these people who you would have invited? Because maybe they're thinking like maybe it just got lost in the mail or maybe it's in my spam or something. No. This was intentional.

00:08:28 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Yes. It was kind of, well, it wasn't done to keep them off the list. It was done just also, I didn't want it to be, you know, or Chelsea, when she's putting it together, There's going to be over a hundred and some odd people here. It wasn't like I don't want it to be like, you know, we're going to have to change the venue to the Fox Theater. You know what I mean? So, but I thought that was kind of funny.

00:08:48 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 4:

I've just showed up before, like with other people. Like say my friends were invited to a house party or something to that effect or a housewarming party. That was the only one I was kind of like, I don't know if I should come. This is somebody's housewarming party. Yeah. I'm not really going to bring a give. I don't even know the person. But it was put to me like it's more of a party vibe. I'm like, I'm just going to show up. She was welcoming. She gave me. I was like, listen, I know you don't know me, but congratulations on the new house. It's different.

00:09:14 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

I feel like a little different when it's at somebody's house versus at a, like Mojo's parties at a venue. Do you know what I mean? I would never in my right mind just ask if I could come to it or just show up.

00:09:29 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I, I actually, I've not been invited to some things. And when I've not been invited to some things, I've wondered, but then I just figured it out that, okay, they probably just had too many people on the list or they were, sometimes you have parties based on who you want to hang out with and converse with. You know what I mean? Like sometimes you have people over and it's, you don't need to invite the whole group. Sometimes you don't spend time with other people. Like, you know what I mean? Like I've done it before where it's like, we have a group of people we always hang out with, but then there's a couple people like. like a couple that we don't get to spend enough time with because they get over, you know, a lot of big personalities, you know?

00:10:06 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:

So is every, I'm sorry, Kev, go ahead. No, go ahead. Is everybody from work invited? I'm asking for a reason.

00:10:14 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

So here's the thing I have to do today. I have to reach out. So Chelsea's been trying to invite Cody, but Chelsea doesn't really know Crystal. So Chelsea's like, I got to figure out how to get to hold the crystal. Like she doesn't have her stuff. And I haven't really given her the info. So I got to tell Crystal about it today from marketing, and Cody's on maternity leave, and I guess the invite's been bouncing back. They shut off your email

00:10:35 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 1:

when you're on maternity leave. Yeah, so I got to

00:10:37 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 3:

figure out a way to talk to her about that, but I think the sales department, I think we try to do sales.

00:10:44 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

It's like the birthday, I know, it's like the birthday party at school. I don't think Rhonda was

00:10:47 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 3:

invited, but she can be. Listen, I think she's listening. I think she's listening. That's what she said. She just pointed and said, he didn't invite me. Rhonda, I will invite you. You would be fine, though. Oh, she's miffed. She is walking away. She's walking away. She's not even turning around. Maybe she'll hear it in about 25 seconds when it's on delay.

00:11:04 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 1:

But the reason I ask that is now, you know, you can't hand out birthday party invitations at school because unless you're inviting the entire class.

00:11:11 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're kidding. I forgot about that.

00:11:13 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So that reminds me of this.

00:11:16 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

And honestly, that's probably a good thing because I think that I was one of those kids that didn't get invited to a lot of birthday parties.

00:11:21 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 2:

That's character building.

00:11:22 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 3:

That is very much so. Everybody can't go. See that? I don't think I'd be where I am today if it wasn't for not getting invited to Teresa Smith's birthday party. What's up, Jason? How you doing?

00:11:34 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Congrats on the Hall of Fame. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate you so much. I want to know if Cousin Russ invited himself to the party.

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 1:

I haven't heard from Cousin. I think he lives in L.A. now.

00:11:48 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

What is he doing in L.A.?

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

His daughters are...

00:11:50 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm going out with Paul.

00:11:52 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine? No, his daughters are very much into, like, the scene, so I think he's there with them.

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Do they do anything, like, scene-wise?

00:12:02 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 1:

They're always on page six in the Daily Mail.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious?

00:12:05 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Yep, for crashing red carpets.

00:12:08 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, they're crashers, like their dad.

00:12:10 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:12:10 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 3:

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Jason. Generational. The party-crashing apple. You know what's funny, Jason, is that Cousin Russ knows my address, and I've never given it to him. Like, I can't, like, the guy literally, and he and, was it Jason? Justin. Justin. Oh, God. Rhonda just walked in. No, she didn't walk. She threw it here.

00:12:32 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 4:

I was not invited. You probably were. Rhonda, you are invited.

00:12:36 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 3:

I'll send it to you. I will send it to you. You are invited.

00:12:38 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

I'll just say Cody. Anyone that can't come, now you can invite me.

00:12:43 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

Rhonda, I'd love you to come. Because, honestly, Rhonda and I have worked together longer than I've worked together with you, Kev, and Lydia, and Bianca. Actually, maybe around the same amount of time that Shannon's been working here. How many years have you been here?

00:12:55 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm going on year 17. And I'm going on year 16. Okay. All right. It's like seat fillers.

00:13:01 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 3:

When you get to 17, you're invited.

00:13:04 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 2:

First of all, when is the Big Bash?

00:13:06 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 3:

It's August 22nd. August 22nd. Oh, Friday night. I will send it to you. No, it's the 23rd. Right? No. Oh, okay. Where is it?

00:13:17 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you don't want to know. It's at the Marriott.

00:13:19 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

It's at your house. We're going to have it. Actually, it's going to be close to your house. It's not that far. Chelsea made it very close. Hold on. Is this the same Jordan that just called? Who is this?

00:13:31 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

That was Jason.

00:13:32 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Or Jason that was called. I'm sorry. Jason, now Jordan. What's going on, Jordan?

00:13:37 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so we know your track record with going to parties. So how early are you going to ditch out and leave and go to bed?

00:13:45 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that is so funny. You can't do that. All this own party. You cannot do that.

00:13:48 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 3:

He will Houdini. I will Irish goodbye that thing way earlier than the party will be over with. I guarantee you that.

00:13:55 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 4:

Are you at least going to wait for Paul to show up?

00:14:01 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 3:

I know, I will. I will definitely make sure that I will be there as late as I possibly can. Paul Corvino is going to be at the party, Rhonda. Oh, yay. Yay, you loved him. Hold on. Poncho, what's up, Poncho?

00:14:14 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'll definitely be there now.

00:14:17 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 2:

I got a really big question.

00:14:19 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 3:

Where's my invite? Oh, my God. Listen, I got to tell you, Poncho, I wanted to invite all the misfits, but no. Chelsea was like, no way. Actually, you are not invited to this one, but maybe we'll have another one for you, Poncho. I don't want you to have to drive all the way from West Michigan to this thing. It will be too much.

00:14:39 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

I want Mike.

00:14:40 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, you can jump in with Mike and Allie then, okay?

00:14:45 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm okay with that.

00:14:46 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. We'll talk to you. Guess what, Rhonda? Kev wants to bring you as his date

00:14:50 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I would go with Kevin

00:14:52 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Wow

00:14:53 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Why not? Rhonda seemed like a good time I'm fine I'm easy She'll be your dad

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, don't say I'm mean.

00:15:03 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 2:

Mojo started on radio in Chicago, spent time in Tucson, then moved to Michigan in February of 2000. Since then, Mojo's worked with an interesting cast of characters on the show, helped millions of listeners, and busted lots of cheaters. The show has won tons of awards, both local and national. And this year, Mojo is a Radio Hall of Famer. Congrats, Mojo. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. What year was this?

00:15:28 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 4:

All right, all happening in the same year. What year is this for the back in the day for Nelly and Ja Rule tickets? This was the year that this little cute kid. Ow! Remember this kid?

00:15:40 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 3:

Ow, Charlie! Ow!

00:15:43 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 4:

It became viral.

00:15:44 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Charlie! He's so cute.

00:15:48 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 4:

Charlie's an a-hole, by the way. Evan Almighty starring Steve Carell was the big hit.

00:15:53 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 1:

In other news, the prime minister of Sweden visited Washington today, and my tiny little nipples went to France.

00:16:01 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 4:

And the big song was from Daughtry, of all people.

00:16:06 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 3:

Thank God. You like Daughtry, Daughtry? This song is incredible. I like it. Those guys. You and I have to go together.

00:16:15 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 2:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:16:26 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 4:

You name one other black person that likes Daughtry. Probably my sister. This song is incredible. I mean, it's the only song I know, but it's a great song. Talented guy. I can see it in your eyes. It's something I'm not saying. I don't like him. I'm not a fan. Thank you. Why, though? That song is incredible. You don't like that song? Amanda, you're not a fan either. You don't like Daughtry, do you? Don't lie, Amanda. Just a little bit. Thank you. Amanda, what year was that? Was it 2007? Yes. Yes. Congratulations. Nelly and Ja Rule. Congratulations to you.

00:16:57 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

00:16:59 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 4:

00:17:32 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 5:

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey spotted house hunting in Cleveland, Ohio. Multiple sources tell me that they looked very specifically at two luxurious houses that are currently for sale on the market in Northeast Ohio's Tony Eastside suburbs. This happened a couple of weeks ago. We're just now finding out about it. But the couple were photographed having lunch together in Travis's town of Cleveland Heights. Okay. Cleveland Heights is a gorgeous area. This is right there. And they really did go look at these two houses and were very intentional about it. He currently owns a $6 million mansion in Kansas City. I almost said that word. You almost. You wouldn't be wrong. It's going to be that kind of Wednesday, okay? And then she, of course, has property all over the place. But I wonder if they're going to settle down there. Wow, this is really happening. They get married and start a family and be close to his family. I don't know.

00:18:27 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm still shocked they're together.

00:18:28 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 3:

This is really, how long has it been now? It's like two years. Two years. Yeah.

00:18:32 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 5:

A Utah woman arrested this week for stalking Post Malone. And his dad is coming out to talk about this. He said that this woman went to his son's home 12 times recently. And one of those times, she showed up barefoot. but she walked all the way from Salt Lake City. The most recent encounter, on Monday, this woman jumped in front of Post's car, forcing his driver to swerve to avoid hitting her. So police were called. They arrested her shortly after that happened. It was the second time in eight days she had been arrested outside of his home, which is so scary. The woman is homeless. She believes she's in a relationship with Post Malone, so a protective order was issued. It had been issued in the past, And that obviously didn't stop her. So she is currently in jail. Despite a whole bunch of rumors, you may have heard, Britney Spears is not going to be performing at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. While we're talking about the VMAs for the first time ever, they have added a Best Country Artist category this year's nominees. Again, for the first time, Chris Stapleton. Better be. No, Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood, Jelly Roll, Annie Wilson, Megan Maroney, and Morgan Wallen. Oh, this is laughing me. Lady Gaga, by the way, leads this year in terms of nominations with 12, including Artist of the Year. She's also up for Best Collab with Bruno Mars for their single, Die With a Smile.

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

How do you leave Beyonce off the list, though?

00:20:00 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 2:

or that category. When was Cowboy Carter out? Was it within the last year? I think so. Was it? Let me see. Let me Google it. By the way. She just came off the highest grossing country tour.

00:20:10 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. I don't know if she's nominated for other stuff, but so you're going to be able to watch it this year, September 7th on MTV, but for the first time ever, CBS is going to be broadcasting. It's amazing because back in the day,

00:20:21 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't think MTV, when they did actually play videos, hence their name, MTV, but they never did country songs because country was not... That's what I'm saying.

00:20:30 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 8:

This was the first year they're doing country.

00:20:32 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 3:

I think the only country songs that kind of crossed over were like Achy Breaky Heart back in the day or that Leigh-Anne Rimes How Do I Live was a big song at one point.

00:20:43 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. March 29, 2004, it was Cowboy Carter, so it's been over a year. Maybe it was last year.

00:20:49 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 8:

And last year... Last year, oh my God, you guys. The race for Detroit's next mayor. 00:23:10 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 3:

00:32:06 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 3:

Actually, this one's going to make mom, I think, less mad and maybe more freaked out. We're going to do five lies to tell your mom. Bianca, give us a little backstory on this.

00:32:15 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 2:

All right. So Alyssa's mom is very, very overprotective of her grandkids. And we're going to pretend that Alyssa is at the beach and her son got himself stuck in the bathroom.

00:32:24 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. How old's your son, Alyssa?

00:32:28 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 2:

He's seven.

00:32:29 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Perfect. Here we go. You ready? Five lies to tell your mom. You're going to repeat these lies to get mom to stay on the phone for all five of them. If she does, then you win a prize. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I took the kids to the beach. Lie number two.

00:33:11 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 3:

All right, you ready? We're calling mom up. Five lies to tell your mom. Let's win her a prize.

00:35:25 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 2:

My son is stuck in the bathroom.

00:35:27 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 5:

Your son is stuck in the bathroom. What was he going into the bathroom by himself for?

00:35:34 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, I didn't think I could come in here. This is a guy's bathroom. I'm not going to come in there. I was standing outside the door waiting for him.

00:35:41 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 5:

Why are you handing me your phone right now? Hold on a second. Hello? Hello?

00:35:47 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 4:

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 4:

Her son.

00:36:15 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, her son. How old's her son?

00:36:18 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 4:

Grandma of the year, Teresa. Give it up for Teresa.

00:37:05 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 3:

You've got to be shitting me here. You know what? I was ready to come bust some doors down.

00:37:11 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 5:

Don't mess with a grandma and her grandbaby, right?

00:37:16 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Right. Oh, Alyssa, you know about her. You know to use your foot and kick that door. Girl.

00:37:26 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 5:

How many doors, Teresa, have you kicked down in your day? It sounds like you've kicked down a few.

00:37:32 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have none, but if I had to, I would do it right now.

00:37:37 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 5:

I like it. Look at you.

00:37:40 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 4:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:38:23 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 5:

00:39:19 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Have you guys ever pulled hair? Because my sisters and I used to do that all the time when we would get mad at each other.

00:39:24 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 6:

No, Shannon. Honestly, it would get worse than that. She would hit me. I would never lay my hands on you, but there's times where I just want to choke you.

00:39:34 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 4:

Were there times like that in Chicago?

00:39:35 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 6:

You know those cartoons where you squeeze the neck and the eyeballs?

00:39:38 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 3:

Like Bart Simpson?

00:39:41 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 6:

I would do that to Bianca for sure. But it's only because there were a couple of times in Chicago where she was pissing me off to the max when she would go out in the middle of the night like it was one time bianca that's not my point what you did in that one night could make up for an entire week of trauma

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so she would go out without you? Like she was in the city of Chicago by herself?

00:40:05 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:40:06 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 1:

What time at night are we talking?

00:40:07 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 3:

She didn't come home until 5 o'clock in the morning.

00:40:09 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:40:10 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 3:

What in the heck were you doing? I was making up for Miami time because she wanted to sit in the hotel the entire time in Miami. Okay, so we're in Chicago. I'm going out. We were doing some social. We were walking throughout the festival. Not Saturday night. We were averaging like 23,000 steps. We're exhausted. I wasn't exhausted. You need to sit down.

00:40:27 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 1:

We're averaging 23,000 steps. She goes, I wasn't exhausted.

00:40:33 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you, when she got home at 5 o'clock in the morning, we had an air mattress laid out that my friend was sleeping on in the middle of the bathroom. And Bianca's coming in. She slams the door open. She's stepping all over my friend. You can hear, like, the deflation of the air mattress coming down. And she's rummaging through the bed trying to get under the seat. Well, let me tell you, the air mattress was the entire size of the hotel room, so you couldn't move anywhere else. The hotel room was blocked off by their mattress. So either I'm stepping on your friend or I'm stepping over whatever. Maybe you should just go to sleep at 1.30 in the morning like the rest of us did. No. I was going to explore the city. Explore the city. Unreal. I'm not mad. I'm not mad at being on here.

00:41:13 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. No. She's a girl in a city that has a crime problem. Yeah. Okay?

00:41:18 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 2:

I'm saying, but like, probably not downtown. No, no. I had a couple friends with me.

00:41:22 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

I had a couple friends. You had a couple friends with you like the gangs by the subway, correct? Those were the friends you were making.

00:41:28 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 1:

wait what do you mean gangs by the subway no this is by by the way i tell him bianca this it's not a subway in chicago it is the l in chicago or it's the red line and you know the blue line and all that stuff but um because bianca keep going i was on the subway chicagoans hate saying the subway because that's new york but go back real quick uh no she was going to the public transportation she was hanging out underneath the l and she was making friends by

00:41:56 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 3:

yeah so when i when she came back in the morning i asked her i said what did you do to the point that you were getting back at five o'clock in the morning because don't the bar they have five or

00:42:05 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

three o'clock right yeah yeah they have great hours for their bars they stay open really late

00:42:10 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 3:

so you would go to bars completely by yourself so my college friends were there but then they left around like 2 30 in the morning and then i was like i'm still vibing though like i wanted to stay

00:42:20 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 1:

out a little bit longer so do you not understand that women get trafficked have you have you not seen the what the heck is it the brad what's her call it bradley story amy bradley bradley is

00:42:33 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 3:

missing gotta live i was i was not drunk i was like very coherent of what was going on i was aware of my surroundings and i just wanted to have fun i was chilling i saw a guy play music on the side of the road so i joined him i started doing the cup song and putting out a performance Stop giving the innocent part of your story. Yeah, get back to the GDs. Get back to the gangs. Don't do all that. Tell them what you did. I don't want to expose myself, but I'm too late. I was already at, I was on the L and there was other guys on there that I met and I was hanging out with and one of them was doing some drug deals on the L and I was like, what is this?

00:43:06 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God.

00:43:07 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

She walks up to them. She told me she walked up to them. Come on, go ahead. You walked up to them and you said, what are you guys doing? At first I was like, I was like, how did you guys get the drugs? Like, where do you get the drugs from?

00:43:18 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, you got to relax.

00:43:19 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 3:

And the guy's like, you never ask where you get the drugs from.

00:43:25 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, these guys probably thought you were a cop or something.

00:43:28 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're like, are you the feds? Are you the feds? And I was like, no, I'm just genuinely curious because I've never seen anything like this before.

00:43:34 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 1:

Can I just say to you, Bianca, that you are not allowed to ever leave this premises ever again. Where are your parents at right now? Your mom and dad are going to be freaking out when they hear that you're doing all this stuff.

00:43:49 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 3:

I think they're used to it, but I'm not doing anything bad. I'm just living life. I'm just exploring and learning new things.

00:43:55 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 1:

Bianca, by the way, was telling us, Lydia, when you were gone, she was telling us that her parents were worried about you in Chicago.

00:44:01 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 3:

Which is crazy because this one over here, you need to put her on a leash. I was going to say, you should get one of those backpack leashes. That's what we're going to do next time. No, I think a shot collar is more than a type.

00:44:11 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm going to be honest with you. I was, I was, I'm kind of on Bianca's side up until the point where she get on the train or whatever you call it and start, start talking to the drug dealers.

00:44:22 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Like, that's when it goes out of bounds, bro.

00:44:25 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 2:

You got to relax.

00:44:26 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 3:

I honestly just wanted to see because I didn't know, they had like ecstasy and it was like a little pill and I was like, oh, I didn't know what that looked like. It looked like my daily medicine. By the way. They're passing out free overdose medication in the festival, Bianca. I know. I've never seen drugs before, so I don't know.

00:44:43 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 1:

It was a very new experience. In Chicago, going to Chicago or New York or L.A. is not like hanging out in, you know, Clinton Township or East Lansing, you know.

00:44:56 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 3:

I was treating it like East Lansing. Oh, yeah.

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

No, but it's not a zoo.

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 2:

It's not a museum. You're not there to explore. You got to understand your surroundings, bro.

00:45:05 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm so glad that we were not there. Can you imagine if we woke up the next morning and found out that she was out all night? I would literally pack up and we'd all go home.

00:45:13 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing. I won roommate of the year because I came back home with a box of Krispy Kreme in the morning for them. She took someone else? No. I didn't buy it. I stole it from the DoorDash order that was at our hotel. Bianca. They said I had been sitting there for three hours, so she brought it up to the room. Oh. Okay. She took it off. That's whatever. Somebody drunk ordered it and forgot about it.

00:45:35 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 3:

And it was delivered to like front desk.

00:45:36 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 1:

It was the front desk. So me and the front desk were eating it up and then I took the leftovers to the room.

00:45:42 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right. Quick question for you. Are there any listeners that are, you know, checking the show out that are like Bianca? And are there any listeners that are more like Lydia? Which one are you? Are you? Because there's usually two types of people. There's the responsible people that you know that are going to be okay. And then there are the ones, like Bianca, that when they go somewhere, they go full on. I saw this when we went to London, and my kids were like this. My kids all were interesting because Luke wanted to go out and just go randomly walking around the place. And Jacob's like, I'm going home. And he's the kid who lives in a city. He lives in Chicago.

00:46:19 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 4:

But he is so the responsible one. He's the responsible one.

00:46:22 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 2:

That's the power of the youth, though, man. Like when you're young, you don't see danger. Literally, the world is a oyster. You just go explore. It's because your parents coddled the crap out of you.

00:46:30 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Courtney? How you doing?

00:46:33 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 5:

Hey. So last week, I was thinking if this girl, Bianca, makes it to 30, we need to celebrate. I take it back. If she makes it to 25, we need to celebrate.

00:46:45 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 3:

I don't think that Lydia is going to allow this. It's going to be like the other documentary that I saw, the girl that got locked in the basement by her dad because she wanted to go out all the time did you ever see that story some crazy story that that's now on netflix i'm telling you all these things relate to each other lydia is gonna lock bianca up uh what's up trevor how you doing it's mojo in the morning

00:47:09 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 4:

good morning guys first time long time what's happening bianca you are insane yeah i mean you are so lucky that you got back home safe girl It's crazy.

00:47:26 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 3:

I mean, honestly, we're...

00:47:28 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm sitting here listening, and I'm just getting goosebumps.

00:47:31 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, wait, she did what? She's not allowed to go on these trips anymore unless her dad comes with. We're going to make her father. We're going to send... This is one of those ones where you have to have a parent as your... Saperone. Your chaperone, yes. Al's going. What's up, Haley? How you doing? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:50 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm good. I think Bianca rocks. I love it. I love the free spirit. I'm literally the same way, so I think it's great. Sometimes you just have to explore and just not be scared and live. Yep, exactly. So I think it's a good thing.

00:48:03 - 00:48:04 | Unknown:

By the way.

00:48:04 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 6:

My family is the exact same way. They're always like, no, where are you at? Who are you at? Because they know I was.

00:48:09 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm calling your mama, Haley. I'm calling your mom. I'm worried about you.

00:48:13 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 6:

My mom's always worried. She's always like, wait, what are you doing? Where are you at? No, don't do that. Don't go there. And I'm like, mom, it's okay. They're drug dealers, but they're protected.

00:48:21 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 3:

Is this bad that maybe we need to have Bianca on, what is that system called that parents put their kids on? Life 360.

00:48:29 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 1:

I have that. And my mom got the plus version. Should we have her on Life 360?

00:48:34 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 3:

Alyssa, what's up? Hey, Alyssa. Alyssa. We see that? Alyssa says, I'm with Bianca. You know what that means?

00:48:44 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 1:

Roger, you didn't pick her up.

00:48:45 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 3:

I didn't pick her up? Oh, I thought I picked her up. I thought maybe she was missing. I'm with Bianca, and she went missing. Alyssa, are you there?

00:48:52 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Melissa, yeah. Melissa. I was just saying, I'm with, yeah, I'm with Bianca. Because, I mean, you gotta, you gotta explore while you're there. So I went to Mexico one time. Oh, Christ. And I was riding on the bus. We're part of Mexico.

00:49:06 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 3:

Mexico's got more violence going on in Mexico and people getting kidnapped by drug cartels.

00:49:12 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 6:

This is Playa del Carmen. This is like, well, more children like.

00:49:17 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 3:

A lot of Del Carmen's like, you know, it's like hanging out and, you know, we're – We're alone. Yeah.

00:49:24 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 6:

Right, exactly. So I was on the bus, and I missed a stop because I don't know those stops, and I wasn't paying attention. I was in my phone, and I look up, and the guy, the bus driver is like – and I'm the only one on the bus. And he was like, yeah, it's my lunch break because I'm like, this does not look like where I was supposed to be going to. He was up in the neighborhood. he was up no good and I was like uh where are we going he was like yeah I'm going home for lunch you missed your stop I think I was like he was taking you to his home yeah and I was like uh and I he saw look

00:50:00 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 2:

at my face he's like oh no no i'm going home to lunch with my family my wife has lunch prepared i said oh okay excuse me mr bus driver you can stay on the hot bus or you can come in and have

00:50:11 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 5:

lunch with us oh my god you did not go inside did you no no i sat outside i was like oh no

00:50:20 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 2:

because then i was like i don't know your wife but she's gonna be like what are you bringing some american girl home for what so i was like oh just stay outside and then his wife brought me out, brought stuff out to me. I was like, oh, okay, that's so sweet.

00:50:33 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 5:

You know what they fed you, by the way? They fed you people who they chopped up the last time that they were on the bus. Thank God you didn't go in.

00:50:43 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 2:

There's lots of people outside. Yeah, they all ended up okay.

00:50:46 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 5:

Who are these people? Explain these people like you, Alyssa and Bianca. Your parents must not have ever put any kind of sense of fear in you. Oh, they have.

00:50:57 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 2:

They did. And so then I was like i need to explore now because i travel differently than i did with them oh my god

00:51:03 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 5:

so your parents uh bianca put the sense of of i have to be careful in you or no oh yeah all the

00:51:11 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 3:

time they're always then why don't you listen i am careful that's the thing i'm careful but i'm fun i started out like lydia i'm lame and i go to bed i'm not lame i lived my life when i was 21 22 but i wasn't you know sipping coke with drug dealers i was not doing that i don't do that i swear to got in my life, I don't do that. If you end up

00:51:30 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 5:

pregnant, you better disescalate me. Honestly.

00:51:34 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 4:

Totally different realm.

00:51:36 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. Jay, initial Jay wants to be Voiceless Guys. What's up, Jay?

00:51:42 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. Good morning.

00:51:44 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 5:

Hi. You're Voiceless Guys. What'd you want to say?

00:51:45 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 4:

Are you the drug dealer on the air? Subway. Not on the subway. I was just one of the comments, since Bianca wants to explore the world, I would like to invite her to Mexico

00:51:58 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 5:

Wait, are you from Mexico? Yes No, that's Cuba No, this is El Chapo El Chapo Wait, so El Chapo What do you want to do with Bianca?

00:52:18 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I can give her a tour We can start with

00:52:23 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

The checkpoint Yo sé cómo hablo espanoso, está bien.

00:52:29 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 4:

And I'll probably end up meeting the boys for the plaza.

00:52:32 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 5:

Meeting the boys. The last time we see Bianca. You know what? I'm tired, man. Jay, you're freaking me out here right now. We're not sending Bianca anywhere. It's funny. This show has had opportunities to broadcast in other great places. Craziness. We're going to go to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas. There is no way that Bianca can come to the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Vegas.

00:52:57 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 3:

That's why I'm staying home. And that's why I'm only going to Chicago. Yeah. That's the furthest I'll go.

00:53:01 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 5:

My God. Do your parents listen to this and do they think that this is all an act? Because this is not an act.

00:53:07 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 3:

They get mad at me and I go home and I hear it and then they start yelling at me when I get home and they're like, Bianca, I can't believe you act like this. We raised you better than that.

00:53:15 - 00:53:15 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:53:15 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, they did, but I'm like, I'm still having fun. That's all good. I'm chilling. Guys, I'm chilling. I swear. I'm a good kid. I feel you.

00:53:23 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 5:

You are a great kid. You're an amazing kid.

00:53:25 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 3:

I swear. Live your life, bro. You're a little dumb sometimes. Ask Lydia if she was 22. She was probably the same thing. I wasn't doing that. I definitely wasn't doing that.

00:53:33 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 5:

Live your life.

00:53:34 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 3:

I was running around Miami for sure, hanging out and doing some weird things, but I wasn't doing that.

00:53:39 - 00:53:39 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:53:39 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, I didn't ask to be hanging out with drug dealers. It just kind of happened. Wait.

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 5:

You went up and talked to them.

00:53:45 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 3:

I was curious. Don't you want to know? No. Don't you want to know?

00:53:49 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 5:

Wait, wait. Hold on. Did you have your mini microphone with you? Because if you do that, we'll keep you safe.

00:53:54 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I got to do an interview real quick. Where'd you get the drugs from?

00:53:57 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 5:

We're all taking, by the way, we're going to all get our concealed weapons permits. We're going to do a class, and then Lydia is going to make Bianca do a self-defense class, too. Yeah, I don't trust Bianca with guns. It's so funny. What a difference Bianca is from past people on the show. We used to have past people on the show that carried mace in Farmington Hills, and Bianca's, like, walking the streets of Chicago.

00:54:18 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

I don't need the mace. I got myself.

00:54:21 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 5:

All right. Just stay away. If you see a hole in the wall, stay away from it. Wind it up. Whoa. Wow. Wind it up. My God.

00:54:30 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:55:22 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30.

00:55:24 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know you two have thoughts about this because you have been talking about it off the air all morning. ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and some other NFL media assets, including rights to Red Zone in a deal that will see the NFL get a 10% equity stake in the all-sports network.

00:55:41 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 5:

The Vikings, bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Greg Joseph lines up for the game, winning 54-yarder, and it is good, and the Lions have their hearts broken yet again, and the Minnesota Vikings come up with a spectacular.

00:56:00 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 3:

This, by the way, is Scott Hansen, who is the host of Red Zone. And what it is, Shannon, is it's all the games in different boxes and he goes and does all the scoring drives. And he's great when he does it. A lot of people are worried about this. I was watching some of the Barstool guys yesterday and the Barstool guys were going, ESPN's going to ruin it. Like they've ruined everything else. A lot of people think that ESPN kind of ruins things Many people think that Pat McAfee's show, thank God, is only on for like an hour and a half or so or two hours on ESPN. Otherwise, it would probably be bad. But the network has so been bad at their economics, like they've been losing a lot of money. They've had to fire a bunch of people. This is a big deal because now the NFL is part owner of ESPN. So the NFL gets a stake in ESPN, which a lot of people think that that's kind of crossing the journalistic lines.

00:56:58 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 1:

OK, so that's and also I'm reading as part of this deal. ESPN is going to acquire the NFL's fantasy product and merge it into its existing platform. So now it's going to be ESPN fantasy football. The official is going to be the official game of the NFL.

00:57:14 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 3:

And ESPN also owns their own gambling apps, too, and their own gambling services. So a lot of people are thinking that this would also involve them being part of the NFL with gambling. I'm interested in this. We just saw a guy go in to the NFL headquarters and shoot the place because he said that he had concussions.

00:57:36 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:57:37 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 3:

ESPN is owned by Disney, which also owns ABC. Will ABC News and ESPN be journalistically and having journalistic integrity on stories that are bad against the NFL?

00:57:50 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 1:

That's a great question. Like you're saying, would they have covered that story?

00:57:54 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 3:

And will they continue in the future? Or will they also give the other sports their play, too? Or will it just be about the NFL?

00:58:03 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 2:

I mean, only time will tell. But it wouldn't be the first time we've seen stories get suppressed.

00:58:08 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This is an interesting connection. Shannon goes, how are they allowed to do this? Well, the thing is, there's not a lot of people that have money these days.

00:58:16 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 2:

The money, bruh.

00:58:17 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 3:

So it's about how much money that these guys have to be able to just buy all this stuff.

00:58:21 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The mouse wins again. Brooke Hogan is real suspicious about some things relating to the death of her dad, Hulk Hogan. She did an interview with Bubba the Love Sponge yesterday. And she talked about how it was revealed in Hulk's medical records that he had been diagnosed with leukemia.

00:58:39 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 4:

You know, they're saying, oh, he had leukemia. And I'm like, I saw his blood work every time. one doctor i quote said his blood is like a 25 year old i mean he took he took the most care of his body and his blood i mean he was going to an anti-aging specialist and and would also you know just being through all the surgeries you have to do a blood panel before any major surgery how did nobody catch you know a high white blood cell count that's what that's what bothers me the most you know and i'm like we don't have cancer that runs in our family it just it seems weird she

00:59:16 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 1:

also said it was really strange that no autopsy was done on her dad she understands he had a heart attack but like what caused that in the first place she wanted to know it's weird that

00:59:25 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

no autopsy was performed because yes you can have a heart attack but what was the reason for the heart attack is the question because if he was up and doing breathing exercises and stuff that means that the surgery on his heart was a success and it was working for me the no um autopsy and the leukemia out of nowhere hits me as bs you know because you never heard that diagnosis before she never no no and and i would be surprised that a surgeon would work on somebody with leukemia or somebody that would see a high white blood cell count and not do further investigation

01:00:00 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 6:

first he was also cremated right away like right away which she was like well that's weird and later in there in the interview she was also talking about how her dad had expressed some concerns about getting married to his third wife sky daily who was a big or is a big Scientologist remember we talked about yes and she claims Brooke claims that at one point he even said to her I'm trying to figure out a way out of this thing meaning his marriage to this one to this scientologist

01:00:36 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 5:

scientology's huge down there where he lived in clearwater do we do we know do we think that maybe scientologist had something to do with his death i'm confused i don't know if that's why she threw that out there but she threw it out there that was she's basically saying they killed him yes she's saying that he had the greatest health and here's the other thing too is you know that If the autopsy is done by the Clearwater coroner and the Clearwater politicians are all Scientologists. So the Scientology, Church Scientology pretty much owns that area.

01:01:07 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 6:

Courtney Kardashian's.

01:01:08 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 5:

We're sending you to Clearwater Beach, Florida.

01:01:10 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. And then go investigate for yourself.

01:01:12 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 5:

Get ready for a trip from Visit Florida.

01:01:13 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 6:

Courtney Kardashian's husband and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker facing some backlash right now after liking an Instagram post made by his son, Landon Barker's girlfriend. Her name is Skyla Sanders, which features a series of photos of her, like in her bikini, just very flirty poses. Some are saying that dad's like was really inappropriate. Others are saying, no, he's just supporting his son's girlfriend. What do you think?

01:01:44 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I have a hard time liking certain people's posts.

01:01:48 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 6:

Well, some of the photos include his son. So they were like, oh, maybe he's just like supporting his son.

01:01:55 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 4:

But yeah.

01:01:55 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. It's kind of weird. And lastly, Skechers is taking some heat this morning after rolling out a brand new kid's sneaker line called Find My Skechers. These kids shoes have a hidden compartment under the insole designed to house an Apple AirTag for location tracking. OK, so if you're looking at the shoe, you obviously can't see these. You have to lift up the insole. They look like normal shoes. They're priced around 50 bucks. you have to buy the AirTag separately. Now, a lot of parents love this idea as an unobtrusive way to not only prevent lost shoes, but also potentially track kids if they don't have cell phones. Others, however, are raising concerns over privacy, consent, and parenting in general, with many viewing this idea as, quote unquote, surveillance parenting, and they worry it normalizes tracking kids without their knowledge.

01:02:49 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 5:

Parents do this all the time anyway. And honestly, you have no rights if you're under 18 years old. I'm sorry.

01:02:57 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 6:

100% agree with you.

01:02:58 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 5:

The parent, you know what I mean? You're under my roof. You got my rules. It's no different when people air tag their kids when they go to Cedar Point or they go to Disney World. Or their backpacks. Or just your phone. We'll find my iPhone. Exactly. And Kevin's right. We do need that for Bianca. I want to see Bianca wearing a pair of Skechers.

Kevin, you're, she just gave you, she just gave you responsibility.

01:06:42 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 1:

Make sure she wins.

01:06:43 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm with you, Carla. Okay. Carla, congratulations to you. We appreciate you so much. Who would you take with you?

01:06:50 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Me. I have to take my fiance. Sorry, Kev. Oh, we have something, Carla. Oh.

01:07:00 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, help me out here, sister. Oh, yeah, daddy. Hold on one second, Carla. Hold on. We'll get your information, okay? You guys are great. Have a good day. We love you so much. Hold on one second. All right. Mojo in the morning. Kevin spent the night with a lady. What?

01:07:20 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Daddy. I did, man. A beautiful lady, man. Oh, yeah, daddy. Probably the first lady I've ever slept with. Oh, wow. Oh, sweet Lord and baby Jesus. I spent the night with my mom, man. Did you? I did. And here's the thing, though. It wasn't planned. And it's amazing because this show has inspired me to do many different things personally. And this was one of them. After the conversation between Zach and Mojo on Monday about your mom's Angelversary. For those who don't know, Mojo's mom passed away many years ago on August 3rd.

01:07:59 - 01:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:08:00 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 1:

And you came in and you talked about that. And it was a beautiful moment between you and Zach and other listeners who called in and sharing that.

01:08:06 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Who also lost his mom at a young age.

01:08:08 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, very young age. And I didn't do much talking during that because that was a moment for you all. And I just kind of listened and remained silent and said my prayers and wanted to be there for you all. But subconsciously, it did something in my spirit was like, man, how blessed am I to have my mom here? And both of you guys lost your moms at a young age and I'm in my 30s and I still have her. I can call her. I can hear her voice. That's an extreme blessing. So I went over to her house, sat there, talked to her and with literally no intention of staying as long as I did. Like, I probably went over there maybe at 1 o'clock, stayed literally all night long. Wow. Watched her favorite movie growing up that I used to watch was a movie called Hoodlum. Like, Lawrence Fishburne was in it. Yeah. Watched that movie. Like, we watched, like, three different movies just sitting there talking and winning got, like, some fish. And, like, found myself on the couch and was like, I think I'm going to go to sleep here and, like, spend the night.

01:09:01 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. It wasn't just something you had planned. It was something that you did because of the.

01:09:07 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 1:

I think it was because of the conversation that you and Zach had and making me think about my relationship with my mom and wanting to spend that time with her. Was she so elated that you stayed and spent the night? You can see it. You can see how like a little like giddy she was a little bit like she had an extra like pep in her step. And yeah, I mean, I want to thank you guys for sharing it because it impacted me in that way.

01:09:29 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

So this is actually an interesting thing. And I will say this, that we hear these stories from time to time, but we never solicit these stories. We'll get a story where somebody will say, hey, you guys inspired me to go do something. And we'll be like, oh, that's cool. That's great. But we've never done it as a topic. And I don't know if this will go anywhere, but what have we done or said on the show that encouraged you to go do something? And it could be anything. I mean, it could be something as, like, wonderful as what Kevin did.

01:10:00 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 3:

did where it was us just having a conversation about our mothers and how you know much we miss them and you realizing that you're very very blessed to still have your mom you know alive breathing and able to to share moments with like that um to maybe it was shannon when she talked about going and getting um you know a test a mammogram a mammogram that you know detected something that you know she had to be concerned about that you went and did it um maybe it could be honestly uh mojo was talking about chipotle and it really inspired it could be something like that but there there are things like i will say this about as long as i've been able to to be blessed to do this show and we all have been blessed to be able to to do something that we we love i will tell you that the greatest things that come out of the show are the moments where listener says you affected us yeah and you truly realize how much you affect somebody and it could even be you heard us talk about the car dealership that we you know love to go to and you went out and bought a car and you got a great deal on a car I mean it could be something like that or it could be that you spent the last waking moments with a family member because you heard something on our show like breaking and entering Christmas you know I mean I will say this the one thing about the the show that we have done over the years we've done the wacky and the weird and the fun and the phone scams and all that stuff we've done the war of the roses and the salacious you know cheating and busting but i think that the stuff that this show truly does the best with is just the the real the going in affecting somebody like at christmas time uh you know there was a couple years back actually it was more than that it's more than a decade ago we did a break and entering Christmas wish and Chelsea and I were actually just discussing this the other day it was one with a mom that was she knew she was dying she was a new mom of a new baby but she also had a couple little babies and she was dying and we thought or they thought that this was going to be her last Christmas which it ended up being her last Christmas and it's very rare that after we do a break and entering Christmas wish that I'll pack up my car and drive and go over to the house of the people that we grant the wishes for. Only because it affects the crap out of me. And I came home and Chelsea's like, I put a call into your producer and I asked for this person's address and I want to bring more stuff over to them because this really affected me. Chelsea and I went over and spent time with the family. And I'm going to say this to you. It was one of the greatest things and greatest moments that we've ever done as a couple. because the kid stayed with a babysitter, which I remember Luke was little at the time. So it was actually might've been almost, cause Luke's 20. It might've been a decade and a half ago. And we sat out in their house.

01:13:00 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 3:

It was a down river house. And we sat in the house and hung out with the family and hung out with this woman who was sharing her story with us. And her husband said, as we were leaving, he was like, that was so cool to be able to spend this time with you guys. and um it's wild you know i think back about that and i know i'm babbling a little bit but i think back about that and i think man we need to do this more often you know well i love

01:13:26 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 1:

that our our own show even inspires us to go out and do things or yeah call you know listeners when you call in sometimes that is very inspiring i know to me to go you know do something or reconnect with somebody or take some time for myself or whatever it may be we did we talked

01:13:42 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 3:

We talked about something on our show, and it was, I think it was something that I saw on TikTok, where I said every day for a year, I was going to call on my way home from work somebody that I hadn't talked to in a while. I don't know if you remember that. And I did this thing. And I didn't do it for a full year. I probably did it for like three months or something like that. And a listener ended up telling us that they reconnected with loved ones that they haven't talked to in the longest time. And I remember one of the listeners that did this contacted us back and said that that person they found out had been really battling an illness. And the reason that they hadn't connected for the longest time was because they were so sick. And that's actually kind of a cool thing. If you've never thought about that or never heard about that, it was every day on your way home from work or school or whatever it is, instead of being in your car calling the same person all the time, pick up the phone and call somebody you haven't talked to in a long time. Just pick somebody in your phone that you haven't talked to in a while and just share a, hey, I love you, you know, or a moment. Lisa, what's up?

01:14:44 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, I used to do that with my mom. I would go and stay the weekends with her after, you know, listening to the Christmas, you know, where people, you never know when it's going to happen. And I sat there every weekend.

01:15:00 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 4:

now that she passed that's the best memories I have of her that time I had with her just me and her for three years leaving my family to go stay with her was the best

01:15:17 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 3:

that's so awesome to hear and we're sorry to hear about the passing of your mom but man she gave you an amazing life didn't she

01:15:26 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 4:

yes she did And you really don't think about it until things are happening and stuff. You really don't, you know, you love your mom and all that, but you never really, you know, you took care of me, and then it was like, okay, now I'm taking care of her.

01:15:44 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 3:

That's cool. That's cool. Thank you for sharing that with us, Lisa. Hey, Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:15:51 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys?

01:15:53 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's going on?

01:15:55 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

So, actually, you inspired me. So, November 17th, 2020. you announced that you had a heart condition, you were going to be having surgery.

01:16:03 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 3:

You remember the date? That's wild.

01:16:05 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 1:

I do remember the date because it's the same day that my father passed away from COVID. He had an aortic aneurysm and an abdominal aortic aneurysm previously. But that, after he passed, kind of inspired me. I was like, oh gosh, he had that and then Mojo was talking about it. I should go get the test and see. And I did end up having, um, one, it's small, but manageable and they're watching it every

01:16:32 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 3:

six months or so, but God, that makes me so happy because aortic aneurysms are genetic and, uh, there's a very good chance that it's genetic in families that have it in the people that you worry about. Aren't the people that, uh, that have it, you people you worry about are the people that don't know they have it.

01:16:52 - 01:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I'm still trying to convince my brother to go get the test as well, but I have one. it's manageable and once it becomes unmanageable they'll go ahead and do the surgery but so in my

01:17:02 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 3:

family i'm one of six siblings and out of the six university of michigan which by the way michigan medicine the greatest heart hospital around the frankel cardiovascular center um yeah out of the six of us three out of the six of us have the an aortic aneurysm and my kids are going to get genetically tested it's really important to do that so yeah that's what we are going to be doing

01:17:26 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 1:

But thank you for, like I said, it was a rough day for November 17th, but I'm very thankful for that conversation that you had publicly.

01:17:35 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

God, I love you for sharing that with me. Thank you. Tina, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

01:17:41 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. My story's not quite as touching as everybody else's, but the entire show inspired me to become a Detroit Lions fan. I love it. Okay, welcome. How did that be? I live in Philadelphia Eagles country. I'm an hour and a half outside of Philadelphia and it's big Philadelphia Eagles country. So I've always been a fan of the underdog and I had no idea how much of an underdog the Lions were until listening to your show. So now I'm a huge fan. That is such a great call.

01:18:09 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 3:

I love that. That actually makes me feel even better. You actually gave up on a Super Bowl championship team for us.

01:18:15 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 6:

Holy crap. I love it. All right, Mojo in the morning fans, wake up, grab your coffee, and let's get ready to do what we do. Forward down the field, a charging team that will not yield, and with the blue and silver wave, let's go, stand and to the brave, go hard, win the game, with honor you will keep your fame, down the field and gain, alliance victory. Go! Holy crap.

01:18:55 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 3:

Now you got to get a tattoo. Tina, come on. Do it for us. I hope we have this greatest season, even better season this year, and I hope the Eagles suck.

01:19:05 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 5:

I can't wait to see what happens.

01:19:06 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 3:

Or the Eggles, as they call them out by you. I don't know.

01:19:09 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the Eggles.

01:19:10 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 3:

They call them. I can't. I don't know if they can't pronounce Eagles or not, but they call them the Eggles. They got to fix that.

01:19:16 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Philadelphia has its own accent. That's for sure.

01:19:19 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 3:

I love you, Tina. By the way, Kev, I love you for bringing this up.

01:19:22 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 4:

What a great topic.

01:19:23 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate you all for bringing it up.

01:19:24 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 4:

And I love that you've got quality time with your mama.

01:19:27 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 2:

I think, but like, and, you know, just rambling or whatever, but I really think that's what makes this show different than others, that transparency. And I think that the moments where we tear down our own walls or don't allow whatever mind blocks or heart blocks that want to prevent us from telling our truth, whenever we say no to that and lean more into the things that we don't want to lean into we're not only breaking down barriers for ourselves it's for everybody out there because yeah sometimes it's just that extra push that you need to say you know what i'm not going through this alone or the things that i'm scared to share to other people somebody else is going through it and they need to hear it so they can, you know, finish their own stuff. Yeah, no, that's big. And tell your mom next time that you see her that we love her. I know she's shy to go on the air with us. It's funny.

01:20:10 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 1:

No, she's not.

01:20:11 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 2:

No, she is. She does not like going on the air with us. She likes to say that I told her don't get on the air, but I don't remember that. I think she's got this version of shy, but then when she comes out, first off, she's an entertainer. Yes. I mean, you come from two parents that are extreme entertainers, and they're wonderful. So it's good. It's good to have her on. I don't have to leave as much time for her to be on as I do for your dad.

01:20:35 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 1:

Your dad could do his own five-hour show.

01:20:37 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 2:

Your dad actually literally does not understand that we have a clock that we have to fit. You got to schedule him in the commercial free hour. Right, exactly. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:20:54 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

We're going to give you an opportunity to win tickets happening at 830. Also coming up this hour, second date update, why you're not getting a call back. I think he knows why he's not getting a call back. And you know what? I'll tease this so you kind of know the details and then we can see if any listeners can relate to this. Not getting a call back. His credit card got declined, he thinks. That's the reason why she's not calling back. He had his credit card get declined while on the date. Has that ever happened to any of our listeners? If that has, don't call us. We'll call you. Text us and text credit card decline. If you got a good story to being on a date and having your credit card get declined or you didn't have the money to pay for the date, because that's an embarrassing situation. We're going to try to see if we can get these guys to go on a second date with each other with the second date update coming up at 820. It's mojo in the morning. This is big news. Shannon, possibly buying a new house or moving into a new house, and you're not completely happy about this.

01:22:39 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't know how I feel about this. That is for sure, yeah. So I mentioned earlier in the week that Wes and I were going to go look at a home this week. We're actually going tomorrow. We were supposed to go on Monday, and it got all screwed up, so we're going tomorrow now. And I had no intention of moving from the house that I live in now. I love my house so much. And when Wes and I got married last year, we had had a lot of discussions leading up to us getting married and blending our families about, okay, he has lived on the east side for years and years. and that's where he raised his kids and that's where they go to school and I'm on the west side and that's where I've you know raised Lucy and Smith and where they go to school but after talking about it we're like Lucy and Smith are going to be in their school district for a whole lot longer so it was decided that even instead of looking for other houses everybody was going to move into my house and all, all was good. Well, over the course of the past year, Wes has not really felt comfortable in the house as comfortable as he thought he would. And the reason being the house that I am currently in is the house that my ex-husband and I bought together and lived in for a couple of years before we got divorced. And then I stayed in the house and he moved out and bought a different house and so west is like i just think that it is time for us to buy something that is ours together and we can work on and make ours together and this discussion really has just

01:24:23 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 2:

kind of ramped up um does the house have have still like signs of uh of andrew in it or is it like is like is there stuff that something that makes him think of that or I mean yeah like there's

01:24:38 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 1:

still leftover stuff I've I've done a lot of work on the house to make it mine like just mine I that house has been a labor of love for me um but I think yeah there are still things not glaring things but I just knowing that that was the case he just feels like he Thank you.

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 3:

I can't get 100% comfortable there.

01:25:03 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Is there ways that you could have Wes change up some of the stuff? Like have it be Wes's kind of idea? We've tried.

01:25:11 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 3:

We've talked about this. I mean, he switched the whole garage to a gym. It is a gym. And some other things. But I just don't think that he is where he thought he'd be a year in. And I am just like, I don't know that I want to move.

01:25:28 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 1:

Do you think, like, because you mentioned that it has been maybe a baby concern for him. Like, it's something he's vocalized in the past. Yes. But you mentioned that it's ramped up lately. Do you know why it's ramped up lately?

01:25:39 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 3:

I think we started talking about, like, looking at houses. And I think now the idea that that is even a possibility is, like, it's making him excited that we could have something together, you know.

01:25:55 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 2:

do you bring up things from the past a lot like are you a i remember when and stuff like that because i'm i'm like that a lot of times and i'll bring up things like do you bring up i remember when lucy was little and i remember this stuff and maybe that makes west feel uncomfortable i mean maybe naturally yeah do you i don't i don't try to but which which i listen i see i'm a person that holds on to a lot of the past one of the things that one of the things that chels says to me all the time is um i don't live in the moment so i don't enjoy my now i always think that everything was better in the past and when you don't enjoy the moment and don't enjoy the now and you think of the past so much honestly your future is kind of dim a little bit you know because you're not enjoying every day that you got to live but i so i am a person that holds on

01:26:46 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 3:

to stuff that's how i am so super sentimental and i i am trying to put myself in west's shoes and i totally understand where he's coming from yeah i really i a million percent understand where he's coming from so i know that i am being kind of selfish to go well i don't know that i want to move i mean it's just i think it'd be anywhere too like i am so i get so attached to things that

01:27:12 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 1:

it's really hard for me this is the house your kids grew up in though it's not like some little fly by night little condo you know this is like but we were talking about this last night and

01:27:22 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 3:

he's like but i moved out of the house that my kids grew up in wow okay to move in with you

01:27:26 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 2:

so okay he's right see i i always thought that he was living uh not that that he and when his

01:27:33 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 3:

wife split that he he moved into another house but they lived there for a good seven eight years

01:27:37 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 2:

oh they did okay yeah all right um wow well yeah i mean definitely have to have some compromise

01:27:43 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 3:

here how would the kids feel about moving out of this house um i can't speak for his kiddos i can't speak for you know sam and kieran i we i floated the idea to lucy and smith and they were not

01:27:58 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 2:

but they're like because sam and kieran this house to them is just a house right lucy and

01:28:05 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 3:

smith how do they feel about it i think they're really attached because they're getting ready to move their dad's getting ready to move too so they're like we just you know we're already moving yeah um i but i also know i can't let them dictate what wes and i decide to do yeah but i want to

01:28:21 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 2:

take their feelings into consideration for sure yeah i uh i will say this to you that uh you do hold on to a lot of the a lot of the past yeah i know i do and i think they and i think a lot of it is you do because you want your kids to have a little bit of normalcy because i think that there's still a lot of you that um you know the the idea that your kids had to go through a divorce probably is not uh is not something that you're happy about that happened so i think you try to make your kids lives so normal that you actually don't make your life sometimes normal yeah and i think that uh i think it's tough and i think that honestly i i get it i totally get it yeah but i will say this to you that um also the thought of moving i know it's so daunting but i but but i will say i will say this to you that if you can find the right place like i wouldn't move to move into a place that's not the right place but you you guys will if you find the right place it would be a great situation for you know you guys and i know you're moving your kids out of a school right you're moving lucy yeah and smith probably will follow probably right you wouldn't you assume i don't know but okay so you're moving them so it's not like you need to hold into the area of the school district and stuff like that i i don't know this might be actually a good thing but i would but i would give it a little bit of time i would give it to find the right house yeah there are

01:29:44 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 3:

definitely positives to it yeah there are so many positives to it gabby what are your thoughts on

01:29:49 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

this good morning i'm in the same spot shannon and just finishing up kind of the process here found a great, great person to build a life with.

01:30:00 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 5:

and just listing my house today, actually. It was hard packing it up, and my kids are a little bit younger, but I think they're resilient, and you explain, you know, the great things that are ahead of them and have a great partner also to help with the tough part of the move, which sucks, but we're in it together.

01:30:19 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

So are you sad about moving out of this house? You just sound sad to begin with.

01:30:27 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if it sounds right.

01:30:28 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 2:

You sound, like, very sad right now.

01:30:29 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I'm very excited. I'm sorry, I'm nervous.

01:30:34 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I was going to say, you don't sound excited. But that's, okay, so you're happy about the new life that you're going to build in this new house?

01:30:42 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, exactly. And it's a house that we both have had together, so we have new memories to create. So I think you will find yourself in the same spot, even though it's a big, scary endeavor right now.

01:30:55 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 2:

That's good. That's good advice. Thank you for the call. Sabrina, hi.

01:30:58 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 6:

hi what's happening so i wanted to say that it's your feelings are valid it's totally normal to get attached to a house especially where you build memories and where you've lived so long um i think you have to think about it like nobody forced west to move out of his like the house that his kids grew up the house that he built memories from it was his choice and um i i mean have you guys given a thought to maybe you staying there and him potentially like moving out i think

01:31:35 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 2:

even sometimes wait a second are you saying have separate houses

01:31:39 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 6:

well either he could rent or something no no no no i would very much like to live in the same house with my husband let's not entertain that yeah have you guys heard of um the two separate

01:31:55 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 4:

rooms just to give yourself like a little bit i don't even want that actually actually shannon

01:32:02 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 2:

it's interesting because when west did move from one side of town to the other that was actually a conversation i think we did have on the air where it was how long can he do this where you guys do the long distance thing yeah because we know a couple yes that did they you know they were

01:32:17 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 4:

married but they did live in separate houses um which and actually i do not want to do that also i could we could not afford i mean i guess we could but that would be such a stretch and no

01:32:26 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 2:

yeah i want i went to my husband every day have you ever thought have you ever thought of building him a tree fort in the backyard that's gonna be the next call that we're gonna grab her hi ari

01:32:36 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 1:

what's going on good morning so i totally get where you're coming from shannon but like when i married my husband i moved into the house he had with his ex and no matter how many renovations we do or how much we try to make it ours i still feel the past in the walls it's like not about paint or new floors it's more about the fact that he bought this house and they have memories whether it's good or bad like you can change the house but i can't change the history that part

01:33:03 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

still lingers and i i want to say he said something very similar to me and again i understand that i'm just struggling with the thought of moving it's like I'm really excited at the possibility but

01:33:15 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 2:

I'm also just having a tough time well I think another thing too is again going back to it if you when you find the next place you're gonna go okay this is great and you'll get excited and then when you move out of your house after you sell your house you'll get sad but you know what you have the future of this new place that you're gonna go to that will go okay this is gonna be Nice. And you're going to put a bunch of money in your pocket, hopefully, because the homes are still selling for some money.

01:33:43 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 4:

I know, but homes also are costing some money to buy.

01:33:46 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 2:

You need to get a good agent to sell that place. Wes is on the phone with us right now, ladies and gentlemen. What up, Wes?

01:33:54 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Wesley.

01:33:55 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. Wes, tell us your perspective on this one. We want to hear your point of view. Honest? Yeah. Please, please. I want no holds barred. Tell us what's going on. Is she holding on to the past?

01:34:12 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it's understandable. I get it. But it's her feelings that she has about this home are the same that I had about my home. And that was not an easy move for the kids and for myself. And I thought, okay, we'll stick it out. We'll do this thing. We'll move in. But it hasn't felt like home. I love it. It's a beautiful home. but it's shannon's home of her past and there's a lot of reminders around the home of that what are some of the reminders um for one there's giant m's throughout the house that's not my initial for my last name and it may be for murphy but i know it's not why wait why are they still around why are the m's still around just haven't taken stuff down like we're

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 1:

You're slowly replacing all that stuff, and yeah.

01:35:02 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 3:

Come on. So for me, like in my- You fix things. She changed, you change things all the time, and you have lots of change. Why are you not taking the M's down?

01:35:10 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 1:

He could take anything down he wants.

01:35:12 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 3:

I know, but why are you not taking it down? That's not my responsibility, no. Honestly, why are you not taking it down?

01:35:16 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 1:

It's literally screwed into the wall, and I've tried. I mean, honestly, Shannon. I literally bought so many things for that stuff, and-

01:35:23 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 3:

But you buy, here it's a deal. Wes, that is like the most legit thing ever. i it's hard it's hard let's be honest it's hard but i have to but i will say this to you and and i listen i i love you but that is to me that would be the like if i saw the m's every single day yeah i know they're and i agree with them and i get it but i would to me as west is actually pretty good to not rip them down like out of his head but he doesn't want to do that because he doesn't want to be a guy ripping that down it's time for you to rip it down yeah it really is and it's not your kids are not going to be affected by this your kids are fine i'm telling you we worry so much about our kids our kids are you got to be the one fine with it and it's and honestly that that's a great moment for you to say you know what i've i'm done i'm i'm and then

01:36:09 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

shannon has done a lot of that i just think that there's there's a lot of those memories that are formed and it's great but i also like you said tom there's there's that path forward or i think And Chelsea had mentioned something about, like, what does that future look like for us?

01:36:26 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say this to you, Wes. You're a very patient man. You are very, very patient. And I do think, and listen, I know that you're the type of guy that we could be talking a year from now and you'd still be in that house. And you'll probably still be patient because I know you love Shannon. But I do think that this is more than just that house. It's just you just taking that leap forward. It's more than literally the four walls and the roof over your head. it's other stuff too i guarantee you wes but i see yeah there's other stuff and you know that's

01:36:54 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 2:

a little probably more private but yeah there's definitely other things that we want to make

01:36:58 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 3:

ours together so yeah i um i am i'm happy that we have you on the air because i thought honestly i'm gonna go rip the goddamn m's off thanks i have told him to do that and they haven't come down so but again like what wes said you got to be the one to do that and it's not your kids aren't going to care if the m's are coming down it's you got to be the one that's caring about that

01:37:19 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 2:

i would be hurt if shannon had done that to my house i i would to be honest i would yeah

01:37:25 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah um it's funny yeah well i've literally tried i know which one you're talking about and

01:37:32 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 1:

i've literally tried to get that out of the wall good luck try well there's like i'm not that's not just up because it's up i'm keeping it up for any reason yeah listen the hardest part

01:37:44 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

with uh and i don't know divorce at all but i know you know that chelsea and i have struggled the hardest part of anything is some of those moments in the past that you wish that you could do things all over again and stuff your kids have a great freaking life and you have a great life andrew has a great wife you know our great life and wife and in kids like it's you guys have the beauty of what transpires through the divorce that you guys had is now you have more people to love you know what i mean and look at that as a pot as a positive and this man is putting up with a lot of you got a lot of patience here wes i think i i get it and i get i get what's going on this is hard for you i know it's hard for you yeah where's karen at you're you're i see her at one o'clock today hey you want to play this play this i see her at one o'clock ask her about

01:38:38 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 1:

the m's telly rip it off the wall burn it in the backyard yeah i don't even know if you come home

01:38:44 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 3:

and there's an i we have a problem um man i you know this is we talk about how real we are talking about stuff on the show uh this is about as real as you can get what's up mary k you wanted to say

01:38:59 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 1:

something yeah we're a w family now so just you know slip those m's upside down that's why i've Trust me. That's what we were going to do. It was a joke. Can't get the damn thing off the wall.

01:39:11 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, we tried. By the way, Renee and Tushar are coming to list your house today. They're going to list that thing.

01:39:21 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Also, if you are somebody texting me right now and you're a mortgage lender, please stop. I have got four text messages since I started this. Yes.

01:39:31 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. If you're somebody that's selling a house and you want to, before you list it, sell it to Shannon, those are the people you want to talk to. And I said this to her, Wes. I don't know if you heard her to say this. You'll find the right place. You guys both are smart to not just jump to whatever because you know that sometimes we make crazy decisions in times of passion and stuff. But I will say this. When you find that right house that's going to be your house, it's going to be the greatest house ever.

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 4:

because of the two.

01:40:01 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 2:

It'll be down the street and just for me. Right, exactly.

01:40:04 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 4:

I like that option. I'm going to call my buddy Carson who lives down the street from you guys and see if he'll flip houses with you guys.

01:40:09 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 2:

I would buy his house.

01:40:10 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 4:

I love his house. We'll talk to you guys later. I'll talk to you later, Wes.

01:40:15 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 2:

All right, see you guys. Bye. All right, bye. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:40:22 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, so here's the story. Nico knows why he's not getting a callback or kind of has a feeling. on his first date his credit card got declined uh-oh nico what's up uh-oh better call makeo nico what's going on buddy what's up what's up um i think i'm getting

01:40:43 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 2:

ghosted and uh yeah just i need some help so it's been more than two weeks since you guys have

01:40:50 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

talked to each other and since the date and your credit card got declined we're gonna find out exactly what's going on and why Kennedy is so bummed out about this whole thing or maybe it's not maybe it's something else uh Kennedy is on the phone with us right now Kennedy will you say hello to Nico and Nico will you say hello to Kennedy hey what's up wait Kennedy how are you feeling by the way about this are you okay with being on the radio yeah i'm okay it's fine okay it doesn't sound like it is but let me ask you uh is it that his credit card got declined is that is that the reason why you are not calling him back because he seems very embarrassed about that happening

01:41:36 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 1:

well i mean he said he was going to pay me back and he never did

01:41:42 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so it's actually more to that So what happened, Kennedy?

01:41:48 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, we went to He wanted to go to a hotel for the night And his card got declined Said he was going to pay me back I never did I never even wanted to go to the hotel in the first place But he did

01:42:02 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 4:

So wait, I understand you guys went to a concert

01:42:04 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we went to a concert

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 4:

What did you guys go see?

01:42:09 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 1:

We saw Wiz Khalifa

01:42:10 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and then after the concert, you guys went and went to a hotel. You stayed in a hotel. And so Nico... Yeah, his idea. Nico, you go to the hotel, your credit card gets declined. What's the thoughts?

01:42:24 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, no. I just like, you know, it was one of those security things that just tripped it up and so it got declined. So just she was cool. She was like, no problem. I got this. You can just pay me back. So I thought everything was fine. So... And I just

01:42:40 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 3:

haven't heard from her you know so you remember having a conversation of you paying her back

01:42:45 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 2:

well yeah but like i don't know we both stayed at the hotel i thought like at some point she was gonna be like hey no problem just like hit me back for half you know so you said you was gonna pay her back and just never paid her back well she stopped talking to me so i was like you know like that part never even came up i guess i could have just like sent her the money

01:43:08 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 3:

maybe that would have yeah but did she stop talking to you before or after you just didn't

01:43:14 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 2:

pay her back well i haven't paid her back at all so she stopped talking entirely and then i was like well i gotta get her to start talking before i'm gonna pay her back you know wait wait why do

01:43:25 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 4:

you why do you have to get her to start talking before you're gonna pay her back why not just

01:43:28 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 2:

pay her back and say i'm sorry well because like i said like you know we had a good time it was like I didn't think it was a big deal. So I think at the very least, like she should be like, you know what? No problem. Just pay me half. And then we would be settled and we could like move on. You know what I'm saying?

01:43:46 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second here. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to ask a quick question. And this is a very important question. When your credit card gets declined Why not just say Let's not go to the hotel

01:44:05 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 3:

That's embarrassing We're already there

01:44:08 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah we were there It was late And we were still vibing and having a good time So I didn't want the night to end

01:44:17 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 4:

I don't know To me at that point right there If I don't have the money I'm not going to say hey you pay for this I'm going to say you know what I'm really sorry Let's like, let's go to maybe my debit card to go to, I don't know, or let's go to my house. Like, you don't, I don't understand. And I'm assuming that you guys got a, got a hotel because of the proximity of where the show is compared to where you live. Or was it because you were trying to get laid in a hotel room?

01:44:44 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was convenience. It was right there. We were having a good time. We didn't have to do the awkward, like whose place are we going to? Like we'd had a couple of drinks. So we were like, you know, just kind of, it was the ease of it. It was just like right there. All right. I just thought it.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 5:

It would be fun. Melissa, what are your thoughts on this one right now?

01:45:04 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so if he really liked her, if he really wanted to hear back from her, all he had to do was say via text, what is your Venmo? There you go. Literally, right?

01:45:14 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Four words. That's where you get, that's where all of a sudden you get her to call you back. Give me your Venmo or Cash app. You know what I mean?

01:45:23 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 3:

She was fun real quick. Ridiculous.

01:45:26 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Sean, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:45:30 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:45:32 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 5:

What are your thoughts, Sean?

01:45:34 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

Man, my boy tripping, man. You should have sent that girl her money back immediately. Hey, Seth. You said you're going to pay her back.

01:45:42 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 5:

Nico, you're listening?

01:45:44 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I hear you. I mean, that's... Like, I don't know. That's weird, bro.

01:45:51 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 5:

That is weird. That's a perfect way to say. Shavonna, what's up, Shavonna?

01:45:58 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 3:

It's Shavonna. And I, as a woman, as a woman, we want a man that can keep his word. If you can't keep your word, like, why would I want a date to? Like, you asked me to go on a date. Like, come on now. Like, you asked me on a date. And I understand that things happen, but it's about keeping your word. You should have did what you said you're going to do.

01:46:18 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm going to tell you something. Shravana, what is your name? Just call her T. Travana. Travana. Travana. I'm going to tell you that this guy might be the smartest guy in the world. Maybe this is a thing. Maybe he goes on dates, pretends like he's got a free hotel room out of the day.

01:46:38 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so he finessed.

01:46:40 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 5:

He might have finessed a little bit. This is better than winning a contest on the Mojo in the Morning Show. You get a hotel stay and Wiz Khalifa tickets. Hold on, Michelle, you've been on a date before when your credit card got declined or the date's credit card got declined.

01:46:55 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 2:

hi yeah it was my debit card that got declined actually um i asked the guy out on a date we went to buffalo wild wings so i was like i'm paying um we went out there they gave us the bill i gave them my card and they're like it's not working and i know i had money in there because i got paid that day um but for whatever reason it wasn't letting me use my money so i called the bank the next day, and apparently I was being garnished, and all of my money was taken for a Toys R Us credit card that I forgot I even had and never paid.

01:47:32 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

01:47:35 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 2:

He had to pay. Thankfully, he didn't make me pay him back. Yeah, why are you paying anyway?

01:47:40 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 4:

That guy should have been paying. I'm telling you.

01:47:42 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Because I was like, hey, let's go out my tree. I want to do something special for you. You cannot say swear words.

01:47:51 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

You were going to go shopping and spit. You cannot say.

01:47:54 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 2:

We were going to go shopping and whatnot and, you know, have a good hangout because it was a break from his daughter and whatnot. But we didn't get to do all that because.

01:48:06 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 5:

Who garnished your credit, your debit card?

01:48:10 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 2:

It was when Toys R Us went bankrupt. So it was Toys R Us.

01:48:15 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 4:

Man, I'm telling you.

01:48:15 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 5:

There's a difference between. I don't get it. Wait, why would Toys R Us be garnishing your credit card? That makes no sense.

01:48:22 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 2:

Because I had a credit card through Toys R Us before they closed. Oh, okay. And at the time, I lost my job, so I stopped paying on it. And then when they went bankrupt, they decided to garnish me for the money I never paid.

01:48:38 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 5:

Okay, sorry. That's kind of weird.

01:48:40 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 4:

It's a difference between present balance and available balance.

01:48:44 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 5:

You got to make sure you know which one you're working with. Whitney wants to say something to Kennedy. What did you want to say to Kennedy, Whitney?

01:48:54 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 1:

No, I just definitely feel like he never had any intentions of paying her back. I feel like by the way he's talking, he was like, oh, I just assumed because the night went good. Oh, you were going to let me give half. It's just like everything he was saying was leading up to the fact that he thought the night was going to go so good that she was going to be like, oh, just keep the money. Like, he probably never even had it.

01:49:18 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 4:

How good did the night end, if you know what I mean?

01:49:21 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:49:22 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 4:

Did he go there?

01:49:23 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 5:

Was there anything that happened at this hotel? I mean, we had a good time. We definitely had a good time. She's super mad. Who paid for the condoms? This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, we're going to give you Chris Brown tickets. Chris Brown right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller wins a pair of tickets to see Chris Brown Ford Field. Good luck to you. The show sold out. Can you believe that? Both those shows. Yes, we can believe it. He's a legend. I went on to, I'm going to eat my, I was going to say, I'm going to eat my shorts. No, I'm going to eat my words. I said to Kevin, there's no way this guy can sell two shows at Ford Field. And I had to find some tickets for this show.

01:50:21 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 4:

Better recognize.

01:50:21 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 5:

And I cannot tell you, there's no way. The tickets, the floor seats are 500 apiece right now on the aftermarket. Let him do a Super Bowl. Who is paying Chris Brown tickets that much money? It's crazy. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, we're going to get a look at what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning. Good morning.

01:50:41 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you guys know, and I think, Mojo, you watched it, this documentary on Netflix about Amy Bradley. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, my God. So if you don't know anything about her story, Amy disappeared from a Caribbean cruise ship that she was on with her family back in 1998 as the ship was docking in Curacao. And since then, she has been seen allegedly by a couple of just random, like, tourists since her disappearance. And there are so many questions. Was she trafficked? Is she still alive and out there? Her family thinks so. Well, Kim Kardashian apparently just watched the documentary and was posting about it all over TikTok. And she was posting stuff like, you know, we must find Amy. This is a must-see. This story is mind-blowing. So Amy Bradley's brother, his name is Brad Bradley.

01:51:34 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 5:

By the way. I don't know who names their kid Brad Bradley. Weirdest name ever. The two first names.

01:51:39 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 2:

So Brad Bradley's like, wait a second. Kim Kardashian knows about this. She's aware. She is famous. She has resources. He is now asking Kim to help him find, help their family find Amy. So yesterday he fired off a TikTok DM to Kim asking for help in raising awareness and possibly even raising the issue with President Trump. And Brad's story is that, you know, the FBI agents who are currently in charge of Amy's case are dropping the ball. They're sitting on their hands. They've dropped the ball from day one is what he said. And he thinks that Kim Kardashian, who in the past has actually had a play in, you know, helping certain legal situations, but he's just hoping that she can at least do something.

01:52:25 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 5:

They got to keep the story alive. And that documentary did a lot. But I think she's got to be dead right now. I think these people killed. I think the traffickers killed her because they're worried about getting caught.

01:52:36 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 2:

I had to Google it. I think she was trafficked for a long time.

01:52:40 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 4:

When I Googled it, because I'm like, when did this happen? It looks like it happened in 1998. So I Googled, what's the longest a person went missing and was found? And 73 years was the longest person that went missing and was found.

01:52:50 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 5:

By the way, when you go on cruise ships, don't ever talk to the band guys. That's what you're learning.

01:52:56 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Especially when their name is Yellow. Yellow. Yellow the band guy. That was his guy's name. Watch that documentary, though, by the way, if you have it. So good. Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey spotted house hunting in Cleveland, Ohio. Multiple sources saying the couple looked at two different houses currently for sale in Northeast Ohio's Tony Eastside suburbs. This took place a couple of weeks ago. They were in town in Cleveland Heights, which is Travis's hometown. They were hanging out with family. So we'll see if they move. He currently owns a $6 million mansion in Kansas City. She owns a ton of property all over the place. She owns the world. I mean, she owns like seven different homes. Ghislaine Maxwell telling Department of Justice investigators pretty much nothing during her two-day interview that could be seen as harmful against Donald Trump. Her comments during these interviews, I mean, she gave them a list of like 100 people that had ties to Epstein. But her comments specifically about the now president reportedly didn't include any accusations, criticisms, or damaging revelations about him.

01:54:04 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 1:

This morning, Bill and Hillary Clinton are among more than a dozen high-profile Washington insiders subpoenaed in the escalating congressional investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. After a bipartisan subcommittee vote last month, the Republican-led House Oversight Committee issuing subpoenas to several former top officials.

01:54:22 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 3:

The American people have a right to know who else was involved, whether the system really was rigged in favor of the rich and powerful.

01:54:31 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 1:

The list includes former Democratic Attorneys General Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and Merrick Garland. And former Republican Attorneys General William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzalez. Former FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller also subpoenaed. Committee Chairman James Comer saying it is imperative that Congress conduct oversight of the federal government's enforcement of sex trafficking laws generally. And specifically, it's handling of the investigation and prosecution of Mr. Epstein. One name not on the list. Alex Acosta, the prosecutor who struck a controversial 2008 plea deal with Epstein in Florida. That deal allowed Epstein to avoid federal charges, serve only 13 months, and spend most days out of jail on work release. Acosta later served as labor secretary under President Trump until he resigned in 2019 amid fallout over the case. The House committee also demanding the Justice Department turn over every unredacted document related to the Epstein case. The DOJ has until August 19th to comply and says it's reviewing the request. In the meantime, sources say the Trump administration is considering releasing transcripts from Epstein accomplice Galen Maxwell's interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche this month. Sources say Maxwell told Blanche, who until recently was Trump's personal attorney, that Trump did nothing in her presence that would have caused her concern. After the interview, Maxwell was moved from a federal prison in Florida to a minimum security camp in Texas with more favorable conditions, a rare move for a convicted sex offender serving 20 years. Trump was asked if he authorized that prison transfer.

01:56:05 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 3:

Todd Blanche is one of the most highly respected people you'll ever meet. So I know this. I didn't discuss it with him, but anything he talked about with her or the fact that he did that, not unusual, number one, and most importantly, is something that would be totally above board.

01:56:21 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 4:

interesting that uh the clintons thing that uh bill clinton picture was all over nightly news last night the one with him in the blue dress did you see ever see that thing that was hanging it was hanging in jeffrey epstein's house like how weird is bill clinton in a dress and why why would clinton want that picture out there well i was that's probably hillary dress no it was basically a mock-up painting it was a painting it was weird that was done of him i'm looking at it Yeah. He might have been a Hillary dress though. You think so? I don't know. I think Hillary's dress would be a little bit bigger than that one. Oh, don't do that.

01:56:55 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Real quick. Real quick. I want to go back to the Taylor and Travis story because I just got a text message from my friend Tiff.

01:57:01 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:57:01 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Who's got some inside info from me. Her friend's sister is the real estate agent that just sold this house to Taylor and Travis. So they definitely did buy a house in Hunting Valley, Ohio. Look at that. That's crazy. Sold. Yeah. Done. And then word on the street is that they're going to demolish this beautiful house that's on the property and build something new. You heard it here. Thanks, Tev. And lastly, Billie Eilish is the latest artist whose songs will be turned into lullabies by a company called Rockabye Baby. Lullaby renditions of Billie Eilish going to drop in. It's actually going to drop next week. And I want to give you a little taste of what these things sound like. You can download them if you have babies and help them, you know, go to sleep in the car or in their bedrooms, whatever. Wu-Tang Clan has had this. Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift. I had it for Lucy and it was Radiohead. What song is this? Bad Guy.

01:58:04 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it is? From the movie.

01:58:05 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was like, okay. Yeah, so now Billie Eilish has her own version.

01:58:09 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Duh. Duh. That was the duh part.

01:58:12 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 2:

I know, that's the part I wanted to hear. It is kind of creepy. Yeah, absolutely. For everything you missed today, you can still listen to The Dirties on the podcast. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:58:20 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 4:

01:59:02 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 4:

We got a pair of tickets for you. You're going to go Ford Field tomorrow night and Friday night. I believe you're going to be going Friday night, if I'm not mistaken. So it's going to be a great weekend. Congratulations.

01:59:11 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 5:

What you wearing? You got the outfit picked out? What you wearing? No, I don't. I got to get an outfit together. I'm about to go get it together now. You know you got to come correct, especially for a sold-out show.

01:59:21 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sold-out show. Wait, wait, what? Thank you so much. Who are you taking with you? Who will be the person you'll take with you?

01:59:28 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm taking my niece Amaya. This is her birthday present. Happy birthday, Amaya. Happy birthday, Amaya.

01:59:33 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 4:

We love you guys. Have a great time, okay?

01:59:37 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Mojo. Thank you, everybody.

01:59:39 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 4:

Why are we screaming? Because it's Chris Brown.

01:59:42 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 5:

She's excited.

01:59:42 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 4:

She's looking to lose your voice Seriously, I'm like worried about you Losing your voice because you're screaming so much Tashima

01:59:50 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 5:

I'm so happy, I'm so happy, I'm so happy

01:59:53 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 4:

I love you, that's awesome We gotta bottle that up right now Bottle that energy up

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 2:

All right. Going to a Tigers game today. I'm excited to go to a Tigers game. It's a day game, yeah.

02:00:05 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 3:

That breath you just let out was a little misleading.

02:00:07 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm really excited.

02:00:09 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:00:10 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 2:

Convinced Chelsea, too, to go to the game, which is actually very hard to get her to want to go to these games. Not that she doesn't like going to the games, but I don't think she likes going to the games. I don't know what it is. But the funny thing is, and this is so funny in our house, whenever there's a game like this, And we all have our Tigers gear, but we always end up going, well, I got to go out and buy myself something to wear. And I don't have any Tiger stuff. I had this bought just for this.

02:00:39 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

I feel like most of my Tiger stuff is like wintry. Yeah, same. Like I think I've got hoodies, sweatshirts, hoodies. Yeah, but to be outside at a 1 p.m. game when it's going to be 80 degrees. I always just throw in a hat and I'm like, oh, okay, I got my Tiger hat.

02:00:51 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 2:

So, yes, here, hold on. Looky here. Hold on a second here. Oh, yeah.

02:00:59 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 3:

You're ready. Locked and loaded. Look at you. I know. You look dug out ready.

02:01:03 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 2:

People say I look weird in a hat. Do I look weird in a hat? I think it's just I'm so used to seeing your hair, and now you don't see any of it. Wait, do I look like?

02:01:11 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

And you got your hat pulled all the way down. What about this? Like to your eyebrows. No, please do not wear your hat like that.

02:01:16 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Look at this. Hey. Come on. Look at this.

02:01:21 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 3:

You look like you know how to have a good time, though. You look like a party guy.

02:01:24 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't like wearing hats because you know what? I'm afraid I'm going to go bald.

02:01:27 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 3:

That's not true.

02:01:28 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that is a thing for him. Yeah, you're going to go bald because you wear a hat all the time.

02:01:31 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 3:

That's not true. It would have happened already. I live in a hat.

02:01:33 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 2:

Look at baseball players. Majority of baseball. Have you seen Justin Verlander lately? No. Oh, he's got like three strands on his head. No. He's got a big old bald spot.

02:01:42 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 3:

What about Alex Rodriguez?

02:01:44 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 2:

You know what? A-Rod. He's got hair. No, can I tell you something about him? A-Rod stopped wearing hats a lot. Excuse me.

02:01:55 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Jesus. Jesus. When you would see him. Is that an egg bite? No, when you. Oh, yes, it is.

02:01:59 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 2:

When you would see A-Rod as he was in the dugout, he always took his hat off. Ah, so that's the key. Do people believe that to be true? Because I believe it to be true.

02:02:10 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 3:

People have told me that, like, bro, you got to stop wearing hats. You're going to start to lose your hair. And I'm like, I don't think it works like that.

02:02:15 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't want, like, if I'm going to lose my hair, I want to lose my hair because of my Ozempic. I don't want to lose my hair because of my hat. Is that Ozempic?

02:02:23 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 4:

Does that cause hairless?

02:02:24 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

They're calling it now, yeah, they're calling it Ozempic hair that you lose, because what happens is you're losing so much weight, I think you lose a lot of protein.

02:02:34 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

See, I feel like with drugs like that, you'll lose hair in places you really don't want to lose hair. Like, it wouldn't just be your head, it'd be like some random other place.

02:02:43 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 2:

You don't lose, that's the problem with when you lose hair. Have you ever seen a bald guy with his shirt off? He's got a big old frickin' bushy, you know, chest hair. Yeah, chest hair. Guarantee he's got hair on his butthole, but he doesn't have hair on his head. Actually, hold on. Let's go to the experts on this one. Lydia and Bianca, all the Chaldean men who go bald, do you know if they have hair everywhere else?

02:03:07 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Yes, they do indeed.

02:03:09 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:03:09 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 1:

I've seen it. My family, my dad. And my butt crunk.

02:03:14 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 2:

Dude, so let's, because Lydia's dad's still got a great head of hair. George's got great hair. Bianca, you're pops.

02:03:22 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 1:

He's got a few feathers left.

02:03:23 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 2:

He's got a couple.

02:03:24 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 1:

Feathers. That's all he's got.

02:03:26 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 2:

Ask your dad to send us a shirtless picture this morning. I want to see how much.

02:03:30 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 1:

I think I might got one low key.

02:03:32 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Does he have, like when your dad would get in the pool like at Disney when you guys did that family vacation, does dad have like hair on his shoulders and stuff?

02:03:40 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. He has hair everywhere else besides his head. Shoulder hair is crazy. But he looks like a big Santa Claus with no hair.

02:03:46 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

It drives me crazy that I have, you know, I think fairly decent hair. There's a couple of spots that drive me crazy. Number one, Chelsea says my nose hairs are out of control. Like she says, it's disgusting to a point where she looks over at me and she can see the nose hairs literally down to my mustache, touching my mustache.

02:04:06 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 4:

Does she ever reach over and just yank one? Because I do that to Wes sometimes.

02:04:09 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 2:

I used to ask her to do that for me. And now she's at a point where she just finds it like you got to trim your nose hairs. And it's bad. But if I could like eliminate hair, shoulder hair, like you get a little bit of shoulder hair, like drives you crazy. And now my hair on my chest is at a point where it sticks through my shirt and it's dry. That drives me crazy. And I'm not talking about pushing out the top of it. I'm talking about all of a sudden the hairs will just come right out of my, out of my chest. You got strong hairs. It's like, you ready to break out of jail?

02:04:40 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 4:

Do you shave your chest? Cause that to me, I trim it. Okay. So that's why.

02:04:44 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 2:

And I think you think that's because it makes them straight.

02:04:47 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 4:

And so they got nowhere to go except out.

02:04:50 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I am one of those people there where in this is something that's interesting. Like as far as vanity is concerned, you saw I went and got Botox last week. I.

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 4:

I do not want to go bald.

02:05:01 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 3:

You look like Mr. Incredible. What do you mean? I don't know. It's just like, I feel like I could throw a diamond at your forehead and it'll come right back to me.

02:05:07 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 5:

No, it hasn't even set yet.

02:05:09 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Wait, do you think it's gotten to that point? I feel like it's tabletop smooth.

02:05:11 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 4:

It takes a few weeks. I do not want to go bald, though. Like, I seriously do not. Like, that's the one thing that I'm, like, at a point.

02:05:17 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 5:

But let me tell you something. Have you seen the pictures of Tim McGraw without the cowboy hat that have been going around in the past week? He looks so good.

02:05:25 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how bad my head is, though, Shannon? I have, like, a head that looks like a deformed cantaloupe.

02:05:32 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 3:

Look at the picture of Kaji said to her daddy. The water make it look crazy. That's a horrible photo.

02:05:38 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 2:

The water make it look crazy.

02:05:41 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 3:

That is horrible. It's beyond his dad. Look at that.

02:05:46 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. It looks like he swallowed an exercise ball. Does he know that you sent this? No, he does. Oh, my God, poor guy.

02:05:56 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 3:

Delete. Okay, but wait.

02:06:00 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 6:

Zoom in on his head. You can literally count the stats.

02:06:05 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Your dad is sexy as hell. Your poor dad. He's so cute. It looked like vagina hair. Your dad. Your dad is...

02:06:13 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 1:

What did you just say? It looks like the top of vagina hair.

02:06:18 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what vaginas you've been looking at. I said, you know what they say? They just do like the top sometimes, the Lannister. That's what it looks like.

02:06:25 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 4:

your dad is a sexy as hell man I'm telling you

02:06:29 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

this picture is great

02:06:31 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 7:

am I saying that by my dad

02:06:33 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 4:

does it blow you away that your dad was able to pull your mom oh yeah for sure

02:06:39 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 7:

it's all true love and the green card of course

02:06:42 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

I will say this about your parents and this is honestly something that I get I get their same relationship like Chelsea and I's relationship where you see them together and you go god they must love each other you know what I mean

02:06:54 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. I like your dad. He was cool with people when we met him at the live show.

02:06:58 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, the thing is, your mom, and I'm not saying that Chelsea's high maintenance, and I'm not saying your mom's high maintenance, but we got standards that we got to put up with. Like, I talked about this yesterday at the same time. It's tough because you sit there and you go, God damn, I got to look, you know, I got to try to make sure I look better, you know?

02:07:17 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 7:

I don't think he has that same mentality as you. No, he's got it. No, I think as long as he takes care of my mom and me and my brother, that's all he cares about.

02:07:26 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you, though? I guarantee you, though, deep down inside, as a guy, like, you have a little bit of vanity in you and stuff. You know what I mean? So, I'm sure. He puts cologne on. Does he wear cologne and stuff? Oh, yeah.

02:07:35 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 7:

Obsession. Calvin Klein.

02:07:36 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 4:

Does he really wear Obsession? I love it. Yep. And he dresses nice, too. I've already seen your dad. Your dad looks good. Good people.

02:07:43 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. He gets it for my jiddu. My jiddu, my grandpa, he wears a suit everywhere he goes.

02:07:48 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 4:

It's so cute.

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 3:

This picture.

02:07:50 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 6:

The picture's so bad. It's the water that makes it like this. Would he let us post this picture? No, you know what? It's so funny.

02:07:56 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you, with the effects of this picture, I would take my pants down to see what my

02:08:01 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 3:

dick would look like. You know what I mean? It's like one of Fiscily's. I'd look like a porn star. Tell your dad to go back in that water.

02:08:12 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 1:

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 4:

02:18:17 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 4:

you and your new man are so happy which is why he's dming his ex-girlfriend behind your back another world famous war of the roses happens tomorrow morning at seven and nine a mojo in

02:18:31 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 2:

the morning all right it's mojo in the morning i had something happen to me that was really embarrassing and i i know that people have done this because we've talked about it on the show and the stories are always crazy how people have had it happen to the next level. So I was at Kroger and I ran into one of my neighbors while I was going and just picking some stuff up and they had two cartloads of stuff because they were having a big party with a bunch of family and stuff. You know, it's weird. Like the carts are big to have two cartloads. And I'm saying pushing one cart in front and pulling the cart behind. You know you got yourself some money when you're doing that, right? That also takes talent, by the way, to do that. That is pretty crazy. That's a big barbecue. I would have taken carts, and I would have had them next to each other and had them side by side knocking into people and stuff. But she was doing this. So I said to her, I go, how are you going to get all this stuff to your car? What are you going to do? And she said, hey, could you help me? And I said, no problem. I said, let me grab my stuff. You're going up towards the front. Go check out. And then when you get one cart load full of all your packages, I will put stuff in your car and then you can go out in the parking lot. Yeah, no problem. So we get up to the front. I check out the store. She's checking out her stuff. And they're loading and the lady's putting stuff in the plastic bags and, you know, putting them in the cart. um she grabs her key fob to her car she drives a car just like yours kev a cherokee grand cherokee and she opens it up because the car is parked in the parking lot i grab the cart to go put groceries into the car go outside open up the door you know the back uh lift gate put all the stuff inside the car and all of a sudden here hey that's my car and i turn around and i look And I'm like, what? Like, I thought it was somebody was messing with me. And I turned around and it's a lady that's got her hands up in the air. You know, the whole hands up in the air thing. That's my car. And I go, like, I'm putting stuff in my neighbor's car. The car's open. What the hell are the odds that, A, the same Jeep Grand Cherokee, which, by the way, they must sell a crap load of those ones. Same color, silver, like a silver color. and the car door is open.

02:20:56 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 3:

The lift gate was open. That's crazy.

02:20:58 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 2:

The woman did not lock her car. Who doesn't lock their car in this day and age?

02:21:03 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 1:

I'd be forgetting sometimes.

02:21:04 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 2:

Do you really? I don't left my keys. I don't left that boy alone. So I got to the point where I'm like, oh, crap. So I'm starting to pull the stuff out. Then I'm thinking, this woman's thinking I'm stealing from her car. So she comes up and I explain to her what's going on. She understands the other one is literally the next row over and just a little bit further down. But then my neighbor starts coming out with the other basket full of all the stuff.

02:21:27 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 3:

Hey, thank God she stopped you before you unloaded all the groceries. Could you imagine? You guys, I hate loading and unloading groceries.

02:21:33 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, no. Could you imagine this, though? How would you like to have that woman's life if I would have put them in the car, left, my neighbor goes in and goes, where the hell are my packages or my bags? You see that you got all this stuff in there, including a bunch of Breyers ice cream, you know what I mean, melted in the bag.

02:21:51 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 1:

I like the fact that she saw that you were inquisitive and then turned your curiosity into help. Yes, and asked me. You want to start talking? Yeah, come help.

02:22:03 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever gotten into the wrong car? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How many times? And by the way, the greatest thing, and thank you to Mike Porter. I love you, Mike, over at Gordon. Mike convinced me that I should look at this new blue with this, like, white interior car, this Tahoe. It's nice. I think I'm the only one on the road with the damn thing.

02:22:26 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:22:27 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

But when I had a black Tahoe, I would walk up to black Tahos all the time. And I would think I was going to get into them.

02:22:34 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 3:

I got into the wrong when I had my Traverse. Remember, I had that white Traverse. and I had gone into Michael's and went out into the parking lot and opened the door, got in the car, put my bags in the passenger seat and I was like, my car interior is not tan. I had gotten, same thing, somebody left their car unlocked. I had gotten in, put my stuff in and realized I was in the wrong car. And then you literally get out and you're doing this, your hands are off, like I didn't take anything from you, these are my bags, that is it.

02:23:05 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 1:

I had a girl one time get in the backseat of my car because she thought I was the Uber. Because the Uber was the same car as my car. Yeah. I'm turning around like, what are you doing? She's like, are you my Uber? I'm like, no, I'm not. She's like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry.

02:23:19 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 2:

I've had that happen outside a 29 nightclub in Novi back in the day. I went out there to go see Ashley Nix, who was on our show at the time, and she was doing a Friday night there. And I went out there and the same situation pulls on my back handle thinking I was an Uber. What's up, Lisa? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

02:23:38 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 4:

Morning. What's happening? So I was at Meijer a couple years ago, and I got into what I thought was my journey. And I go to put my key in. It wasn't working, and I didn't know what was going on. I look in the mirror, and there's this little boy, probably like eight years old, looking at me, like big eyes, scared, crapless. And I didn't know what to do. I was like, I'm so sorry. And I quick called out the car and shut the door. I was sober.

02:24:05 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 2:

What the hell are they leaving a little boy in the back of the car for?

02:24:09 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 4:

He was probably like 8 years old, 10 years old, maybe, something like that. He didn't say anything. He just was staring at me. Yeah. Oh, it's terrible.

02:24:17 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 1:

At least they cracked the window.

02:24:18 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 2:

For the kid. Joanne, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Joanne.

02:24:23 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey. Hey, how are you guys?

02:24:24 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

We're great. What's up?

02:24:26 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 5:

So I was at Meyers also, and I was in the grocery line buying something, and I realized I didn't have my purse. So I'm like, oh, crap, what did I do? I left it at home. So I run out to the car. I grab all the change out of the change holder, run in, pay for it, come back out to the car, realize there's all these babies in the car. It's not even my car that I took the change from. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

02:24:52 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's great. But they kept their change in the same place that you kept your change.

02:24:58 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was like a little change holder. It was like a van.

02:25:02 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't even remember the Pacific, I believe. Which one was cleaner, that car or yours?

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Mine.

02:25:08 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 2:

Which one had more money than it?

02:25:10 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 5:

I looked in the back, and there's all kinds of crap in the bag. Oh, my God.

02:25:15 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 2:

You start judging them for how dirty their car is. Stephanie, you left the grocery store, and what happened?

02:25:23 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

So I walked out of my local grocery store, and um it's one of those ones that has like a starbucks in it yeah and so i'm like walking out with like my starbucks and so i'm coming out to go get in the car so i come into the driver's seat and like you know like you're just like an autopilot i go to like put my drink like in like the cup holder and the person's actually like hey oh my gosh that's crazy can i tell you

02:25:52 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 1:

something i feel that so much because half the time i am so zoned out when i'm grocery like running all my errands grocery shopping whatever i would not have noticed a person sitting there

02:26:01 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 2:

either i really wouldn't have this one's a good one too brooke this happened and it wasn't just one person in the car but what happened yes i want to start off first time long time

02:26:11 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 5:

look we got brooke so my boyfriend i was sitting in the passenger seat he had to run into kroger for something really quick i'm sitting there all of a sudden i'm like where is he it's kind of taking a while all of a sudden he gets in the car he is cracking up i'm like what happened he gets in he's like i just got in same thing jeep grand cherokee got in sat down there was a woman sitting in the passenger seat in the back seat a baby starts crying oh my god you're not my daddy i'm like thank god nowadays it's like you have to be kind of careful what did the woman do what did you say to him when he got in the car um he said nothing she just looked like she was about to

02:26:55 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 2:

poop her pants right i bet wow thank you for the call what's going on hi chris hello hi there what's happening chris oh nothing just driving to work yeah chris what what was the

02:27:09 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 5:

story you got in the wrong car well my sister and i went to little caesar's years ago to get pizza Get hot and ready. Come on, now. And she went in.

02:27:19 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:27:19 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 5:

So I'm sitting there watching her walk out with the pizza, get in the car next to me with the guys in the driver's seat. With the pizzas. And I look over, and I'm laughing so hard. And the guys looking at her like, what are you doing?

02:27:37 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 2:

This guy thought it was his day. He's got a hot girl and a hot pizza. That's great.

02:27:44 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 5:

It was awesome.

02:27:44 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Long time, first time. Hey, Chris. Chris on the phone. Thank you, Chris. Have a good day. Appreciate you. This is a wild one. These are great stories. These are all great stories. It's so embarrassing when this happens. Kim put her kid in the wrong car. Uh-oh. What happened? Kim? Hey, how are you? We're great. What's going on?

02:28:09 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 5:

Good. So a couple of years ago, my son, like two and a half, super efficient proficient kit i used to just like open up the back door put them in and say just buckle yourself in and i go around and get in so i did i went around and got in the car and he's just standing in the back seat staring at me i'm like dude what's going on he goes this is not our car he goes those are not our bags that is not your purse this is not what is okay all right

02:28:40 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 2:

What's up with people that leave their car doors open? Isn't that crazy?

02:28:46 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 5:

And there's stuff in it. Yeah, I know. I think it's a thing where I live. But, yeah, no, everything that's in there, I was looking for some gum and stuff in her purse, but she didn't have any.

02:28:55 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

I like Marie. Marie got into a car and saw pictures and realized these weren't her pictures. Right? Is that right, Marie?

02:29:06 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:29:07 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey. So it was the pictures that were the giveaway?

02:29:11 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 3:

Right. Yeah, it's the exact same car, exact same color, everything. And the key fob worked on it. So I unlocked this car and unloaded my groceries and got in.

02:29:25 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 2:

I've heard that before with key fobs.

02:29:27 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they only make so many different, like, variations of them. That's not right.

02:29:32 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 3:

I sat down and my boyfriend sat next to me and we're looking at photos of somebody's child

02:29:41 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 2:

what kind of car was it do you remember

02:29:45 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 3:

oh my goodness it was a Ford Probe

02:29:49 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 2:

I haven't heard about those

02:29:52 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 1:

in a long time

02:29:52 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

what a horrible name for a car you know what I mean that sounded like it was too old to have a key fob back in the day the

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I feel like you need to stick it in the ignition.

02:30:03 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 6:

I think that, honestly, I think that they probably had them around at that time. But, again, that was probably why it was so duplicatable because they didn't have the technology, if that's a word. Duplicatable. Wow. I know. I think I might be the smartest person I've ever heard. That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything. One last call here. Heather, what's up, Heather? Hi, Heather.

02:30:35 - 02:30:36 | Unknown:

Heather.

02:30:36 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey, Heather. What's happening? What's happening to me? I think Meyer is evil because I was at a Meyer, got my groceries, put them in my trunk, went to return my cart. Lots away from me was another black car just like mine. got in noticed stuff on the floor that wasn't mine must have security locks I couldn't get out of the car it literally trapped me inside

02:31:05 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 6:

and it's like a million

02:31:09 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 3:

degrees outside and I'm trying to get out so I'm banging on the window and a cart return guy comes by and I'm asking him let me out he's like you're lying to me I'm like I can't get out I didn't have my phone to call anybody I'm like you've got to let me out lady walks by She thinks I'm crazy. I finally convinced him to open the door and let me out. But it was the most embarrassing five minutes of my life.

02:31:34 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 6:

That's wild. Would they have child locks on or something that it wouldn't let you out?

02:31:38 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It let me open the door. Obviously, it wasn't locked, but it must have security measures that if you get in and don't have that fob, it locks the doors on you.

02:31:47 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

02:31:49 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:31:50 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 6:

Man, that's nuts. Well, Heather, it's nice to talk to you. Will you call us more often, please?

02:31:54 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day. You too.

02:31:56 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:32:34 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 6:

What's up in the Dirty?

02:32:35 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, after last night's primary, the race for Detroit's next mayor will pit a longtime city council member against a very popular pastor. It is Council President Mary Sheffield and megachurch leader Solomon Kinloch, Jr.

02:32:54 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

We need leadership that is tested, that is proven, and that is ready to deliver day one in Detroit. I am prepared to meet that moment.

02:33:06 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 1:

Over at the Rooster Tail, the pastor speaking.

02:33:09 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 4:

I want to thank you all for sharing this moment with me. I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you that are gathered here tonight.

02:33:19 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 6:

How do you think his congregation feels about him wanting to be the mayor?

02:33:22 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 4:

For accomplishing something historical. I love it. Really? I mean, if it's a calling. Because I started at the bottom. And we're on our way to the top.

02:33:42 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if Mary Sheffield should win, it would be a historic win. She would become the first female mayor of the city of Detroit.

02:33:50 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 6:

I think if my pastor, though, was running for mayor, I'd be a little upset, though, because I'd want him to be my pastor. I mean, he can't do both. I mean, there's no way.

02:33:58 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 7:

If he hasn't already, I'm sure he'll address that. And I'm sure she'll address it.

02:34:03 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 6:

Mary Sheffield, and this is not an endorsement, because obviously I don't know any of these guys, because to be perfectly honest with you, I don't live in Detroit. I live in the suburbs, so I'm not voting. But she is a smoke show. Have you seen those billboards of her?

02:34:19 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 7:

Is Mary Sheffield married? No, I don't think so. The streets call her Mayor Bay. Do they really?

02:34:26 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 6:

Do you think she's going to definitely get, like, all the guy votes? I don't know.

02:34:29 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 7:

I know for a fact, though, just from working with her. You have worked with her? Yeah, for sure. Tell us about her. She's a huge Piston supporter. I mean, she's a good person. And she's been in the community doing grassroots efforts for many, many, many years. Wasn't her, was her mom also or dad or somebody like that? I think her dad is a pastor. Really? I'm not 100% sure, though. But I've seen her outside on the streets of Detroit, riding buses, talking to people. And she's been doing that way before she ever announced that she was running for mayor.

02:34:57 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 6:

If she's single, why don't you?

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 4:

you date her could you you'd be the first husband oh yes that's not bad at all what do you think

02:35:05 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 3:

about that that would be actually kind of interesting i think that would be kind of wild kevin dating the mayor god i probably have to quit i want the key to the city i want the key

02:35:15 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 1:

to the city you get the mayor of the city did mayor duggins office ever get back to you about

02:35:20 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 3:

so you know what it's funny i i think it's happening i do i think that we're getting the key to the city but i i do have to tell you this i'm gonna ask for other things too what's the number what's number one on your list no part i want an immunity from any parking ticket that's all i want you need like one of those i will endorse whichever candidate gives me the ability to be able to be the next kwami kilpatrick i want everything that i can get i want the manugian mansion on the weekends i'll give you the endorsement you know an endorsement from this

02:35:52 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 4:

radio show would be a big endorsement not arguing with that you need one of those laminated little free parking everywhere stickers you can put in the front of your uh official police vehicle

02:36:02 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 1:

that's what i want to be amazing all right legendary radio host howard stern facing a very uncertain future over at sirius uh sirius xm excuse me as his five-year 500 million dollar contract winds down okay so here's the deal i mean he's been there since 2006 he's now 71 i am hearing he'd be open to something short term if the price is right of course but he is also considering calling it quits and part of it is he's off in the summer and this year he's been telling people maybe it is just time for me to retire his staff i heard was blindsided by this yeah well and so that's the reason that he may do a one or two year contract if they can meet him where he he wants financially because he doesn't want to pull the plug on his employees

02:36:49 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he kind of got away from he talks politics all the time. And then the other thing, too, is Zach and I were just talking about this because Zach and I were both are both Barry Howard Stern fans. He doesn't interview celebrities like he used to, where he would ask questions about their sex lives and things. He's always like friends with everybody, which, you know, it is so interesting.

02:37:08 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 1:

And this is coming from a very inside source. I guess he has I don't know if it's jealousy or he's just kind of miffed about Sirius XM's reliance on Andy Cohen who does do all

02:37:21 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

those things now. Andy's great. Andy actually

02:37:23 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 1:

would be a great replacement. There's a jealousy there.

02:37:25 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 3:

This was when Howard talked about me and a I was hosting a thing or we did a segment on our show where I would critique America's most, or not America's most wanted Americans got talent and I would critique the uh the judges when howard was a judge and i talked about how much i loved howard

02:37:44 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 2:

on that show kudos to mojo that's my boy mojo is but mojo i love mojo that's out of detroit okay yeah all kinds of uh reviews but it still fascinates me that people think you're a loose cannon yeah i'm a i'm a professional like mojo said

02:38:04 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 4:

just like he said five year 500 million dollars isn't that crazy that's insane by the way he's

02:38:13 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 3:

the king of all media that's what his name is the king of all media howard stern patrick mahon's

02:38:19 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 1:

not even making that quick update the official cause of death for ozzy osborne was a heart attack his death certificate also shared some coronary artery disease and said parkinson's

02:38:30 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 3:

were contributing factors i'm telling you the biggest dirty story of the morning is that Scientologist killed Hulk Hogan. Brother. The rumor.

02:38:37 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 1:

His third wife. Allegedly. Is a Scientologist. And you guys, another sex toy thrown on the court at a WNBA game. The third in a week, if you're keeping track, happened during the Liberty Wings game last night.

02:38:51 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, look out. Something just came onto the floor.

02:38:54 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, choice of words.

02:38:56 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 2:

Got an object that just flew in as the free throw was being made. It looked like that hit a player, too. Yep.

02:39:09 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sorry. This was during the Fever game. There were two separate incidents of sex toys, by the way. This one almost hit Sophie Cunningham.

02:39:17 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I love Sophie Cunningham.

02:39:19 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 4:

She tweeted, stop throwing dildos on the court. You're going to hurt one of us. She tweeted that August 1st. And then she tweeted after it happened, this did not age well.

02:39:28 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:39:29 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy.

02:39:30 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. I'm Googling right now. I'm going to Google. What? I want to Google why they actually are throwing dildos. No. Why do they call it that name?

02:39:41 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 1:

I'll never forget. Somebody threw one out on the floor at my high school pep assembly one year. What? And the principal had to go get it. And it was like jiggling in his hand as he walked away with it. That was like burned into my brain. Gross seal of high school. I'll never forget it. He went and got it barehanded?

02:39:57 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

He did. I was surprised.

02:39:59 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

It was like.

02:40:00 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 2:

I can't forget that. You can't forget that. Wrapped it around. All right. Check out the dirties that you missed today on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:40:07 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 4:

Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right. It is Mojo in the Morning show. So Kevin, Mr. Kevin, we know Kevin by Kev. Some people know him by Kev knows. Somebody was trying to set you up on a blind date.

02:40:29 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I've never been on a blind date before.

02:40:32 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 1:

Have either of you?

02:40:34 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 4:

No, I've not.

02:40:36 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 1:

No, not really. Lydia, you ever been on a blind date? Kaji? I have, yeah.

02:40:40 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 4:

And a blind date to just, you know, I don't think people know what blind dates are. Blind dates basically, hey, you don't, I got a person for you, you know, this person's great, you're going to go meet at a place and then that's it. You've never met him before, never seen a picture of him. Nowadays with technology, you don't do that anymore, I don't think.

02:40:57 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 2:

You at least, you get their name and you go stalk their social media.

02:41:00 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 3:

The reason why I haven't went that far yet, and I don't think I would, is because it is being set up by a trusted individual.

02:41:07 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:41:08 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 3:

This is one of my best friend's wives.

02:41:09 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 1:

She's like, hey, Kev. I don't know if she, we don't talk. I thought you were being set up with the wife. That came out really funky.

02:41:15 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. My best friend's wife is trying to set me up with someone. Okay, okay. I was really confused. That is not a blind date. That is swinging. Let me be very clear. So she's like, hey, Kevin. Obviously, her and I don't talk that much because she said, I don't know if you're, you know, you're back out here or dating or anything like that. And I'm like, boy, let me tell you. She's like, but I have somebody that I think you would really be interested in. I would love to set you up on a blind date. And my only hesitation is because I think I know the person that she wants to set me up with. Okay. And it's an absolute no.

02:41:48 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yes. How do you think you know this person without giving too much?

02:41:51 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Because I think we're, we all know each other and they hang out a lot together. And this person has mentioned, or they give the energy that they are interested in.

02:42:01 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly. Wait, you said no to a woman. Yeah, I did.

02:42:04 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 2:

So did you tell your friend's wife, if it's this person, I'm actually not interested? Why would you do that to yourself though? No, I can't say that.

02:42:12 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 1:

Because if you know it's a no, don't waste your time or hers. Well, I'm not, I didn't say yes to the date. I said, let me think about it. I know, but you thought about it. The answer is no. I knew immediately.

02:42:23 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 4:

Why do you, this surprises me. Why do you say no? Because you seem like you like to go out with lots of people.

02:42:29 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 3:

I do. I like to select the individuals, though. I don't really find this person that compatible. We'll say that.

02:42:35 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 4:

Compatible or attractable? Attractable.

02:42:38 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

What do you think? I wouldn't go out. I wouldn't say that. You know, I like to respect, you know, people. But I just don't think that that person is the right fit for me. and so I'm just gonna hope that my best friend's wife doesn't reach back out to me and ask again

02:42:51 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 4:

she'll just take the hint like yeah no what is it about uh what is it about them I just don't

02:42:57 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 3:

I just don't see it for myself like if I saw it for myself then that person and I would have already established a connection that went beyond friendship but I think they're trying to take it to a next level because that person and I have seen each other a couple more times recently than we have in the past like twice in the last couple of months one of the times asked me out to go after an event that we were at together and i was like no i'm already at the crib and i think they're trying to use the other relationship of my best friend and his wife because they shod to ask me

02:43:28 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 4:

to go out do you find it annoying because you have a lot of uh married friends and i have you know obviously i'm a married guy i find that i annoyingly will get this single friend of mine and try to always set up the single friends of mine.

02:43:43 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:43:44 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 4:

I do it, yes. You know what you're making fun of.

02:43:47 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 2:

You don't do that.

02:43:49 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 4:

But I do this a lot, like, where I'll do the whole thing. Let's put it this way. We have, Chelsea and I have a plethora of beautiful single women that we know.

02:44:00 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 3:

That you've never introduced me to, but okay.

02:44:02 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 4:

A lot of them divorced and stuff. Honestly, well, I think some of them are, like, my age.

02:44:07 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I need that right now. You would? I need me a rich, white, divorced lady that's ready to kiss, ready to hit the sheets.

02:44:15 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, can I tell you something? We got some. I don't know how rich, but I will say this. We got some, and I will say this to you. They're beautiful, and the only guy that I know is single is Steve Gabara, and these women go crazy all the time because they're like, we're not going out with Steve Gabara. Why? No offense to Steve Gabara, but Steve Gabara is, you know, I feel like Steve Gabara is the person that you pawn off on everybody and I feel like I do that from time to time and it's no offense to Steve because Steve is a very and I think Steve's actually to me a catch like he's a good guy but he's also not the most attractive of guys Steve you better text his ass

02:44:59 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

right now

02:45:00 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 1:

I mean, he smells good and, you know, I was going to say dress is good. He doesn't even dress good. He's such a sweetheart. You know? He showers. Steve will say that about himself, though. Steve showers and he's got a job, right? He's got a good job.

02:45:10 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 2:

That's like the girl would be like, so tell me about him. Tell me about Steve. He'd be like, he showers.

02:45:16 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 1:

But it's funny, though, because it seems like Chelsea and I will have people, and Chelsea gets so mad at me all the time when I'll go, you know, you should meet my friend Steve because that Steve's all I got. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that's all as far as single friends. I've always been a single friend.

02:45:29 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, please, stop playing. I've always been a single friend out of my friend group, though.

02:45:34 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:45:34 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 2:

Everybody has been in long-term relationships or, you know, they've found their partner for a considerable amount of time. I've always been that odd man out, I guess, in that aspect.

02:45:43 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea actually thinks that you're a catch because she's going to – My wife has gone on dates with Kev, like lunch dates, and says that he's the most attentive guy that she has ever gone out with. Like, he focuses purely on, you know, you and spends time focusing.

02:46:03 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 2:

And I respect you and your wife, so I would never end it in date.

02:46:06 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 1:

I would just say we've gone out to lunch. Chelsea.

02:46:09 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

What?

02:46:09 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you?

02:46:11 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

02:46:12 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 1:

Good. You know how I always try to set our single women friends up with Steve Gabbara?

02:46:19 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:46:20 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 1:

No more. Guess who we're setting them up with? Who? Kevin Irwin II. That's right.

02:46:29 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 2:

He's looking for a white, single, recently divorced lady that's just trying to have some fun. Into the rough stuff. Ready to kiss. Oh, okay. For real, Chelsea, put me on somebody. Chelsea. Oh, Lord.

02:46:44 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, put you on somebody? Is that what you said?

02:46:47 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Introduce me to one of your lovely friends.

02:46:51 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 3:

well i will can't think of any single ones as of right now but i'm sure

02:46:57 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 1:

he he you've said you've told uh me after you've gone to lunch with him you say that he's the most attentive guy that you've ever been out with yes and you get flowers and you get flowers and by the way it's not saying very much because you pretty much have only been with me so i guess as

02:47:16 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 3:

attentiveness is you know no but Kevin is very attentive and remembers things yeah very good

02:47:24 - 02:47:53 | Speaker 1:

questions he's very very can can I say something about Kevin though that pisses me off last night I'm sitting on the couch okay I'm on the couch Chelsea comes in you know uh sits next to me on the couch to we're talking about our day and she goes why are you picking on Kevin I go what are you talking about picking on kevin she goes kevin text me yesterday to say that you weren't being what did he text you i said i'm yelling at your husband yeah yeah he said he was yelling at you

02:47:53 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 3:

because you were lying i said lying about what about everything he said everything

02:47:58 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 1:

he's just being here lying i was not i was being i behaved myself hey by the way i do have to mention to you you did not i don't think wake up early enough to hear this but i was talking about

02:48:10 - 02:48:50 | Speaker 3:

the party that you're throwing for me? Oh, I heard. I heard. Let me defend myself when I say a couple of things. Number one, I don't know a lot of the people you work with. So when I throw a party with work people, I don't know who they are. So I rely on you. I rely on Angel. I rely on other people. Second of all, when I sent out the invitation, that on my part, I did not say and guest but that was discovered within a 30 minutes and you were sitting right next to me so then i sent out an another thing saying hey yes of course bring a guest yeah yeah so i and

02:48:50 - 02:48:57 | Speaker 1:

i have a lot going on in my brain right now so but so so but so colleen our boss can bring mad

02:48:57 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 3:

her husband right yeah he's okay for anyone who knows you knows you're most

02:49:06 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 1:

knows oh you're about to say something nice about me i think what were you gonna say

02:49:11 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 3:

you cut out anybody that knows me knows what i said that you're an extremely generous person so of course if we are inviting you that you can invite a guest yes yeah yeah hey chels uh real

02:49:23 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 1:

real quick what do you think about setting kevin up with some of some of the people that are going

02:49:28 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 3:

to be there that night that will be single blind date uh live you know i i should go for it

02:49:35 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 1:

would you who do you want do you want to do you want somebody that's we have friends we have friends that are divorced yeah we have friends that are widowed actually lost their husbands

02:49:45 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 2:

that's too much for me really yeah let's go you got nobody to compete with though let's go divorce

02:49:50 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 1:

You want a divorce?

02:49:51 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay. It might be some revenge loving in there. Hold on.

02:49:57 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Shelly wants to comment.

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Shelly? How are you?

02:50:00 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 4:

My daughter works at Del Bain, which is in the same Eastern American parking lot. Yeah. And I have been telling her for a year and a half to listen to Kev because that's their match. If nothing else, they would be the best of friends.

02:50:18 - 02:50:20 | Speaker 3:

Really? So where is she at? She's right down the street.

02:50:21 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 4:

And also you get fruit and vegetables also.

02:50:24 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 3:

Ah, a healthy baby.

02:50:26 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 4:

Talk to you in the morning.

02:50:27 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Tell her to walk down to the studios here. Tell her to come down. Can you call her right now?

02:50:32 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 4:

I cannot get her. She is too shy. I'll go to her.

02:50:37 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 3:

Here. Yeah. Have Kevin give Lydia the information, and then Kevin will come by. I'll go today. And he'll say hi to her. Okay?

02:50:44 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Yes.

02:50:46 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right. Chelsea, Steve Gabara's mad at me, I think.

02:50:51 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 2:

For real? I'm going to see him tomorrow, too.

02:50:54 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 3:

Because I said that Steve Guevara is the only guy that I know that's single, so I set him up with all the girls, and I go, and look at Steve. I mean, he's not like he's a good-looking guy or anything. I said he does smell good.

02:51:05 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 4:

He does shower.

02:51:07 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 3:

He does shower. He showers. So I'm just kidding. Steve's a good guy. He's a kind man.

02:51:14 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 4:

He's a kind man.

02:51:15 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 3:

All right, Chelsea, I love you.

02:51:18 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 4:

Sorry you cut out. Okay, love you. All right, I love you. I'll talk to you later.

02:51:23 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo Three great stations One stupid show This is Mojo in the Morning Live Coming up

02:51:38 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Second date update Why are you not getting a call back? You'll hear that coming up here in just a little bit Hey, tomorrow on the show A trip to Florida at 7.30 You want to go to Florida when the winter comes? We're giving away trips all fall and winter right here from Visit Florida and Mojo in the Morning. Shannon, you, I don't know why I said it like that. Shannon, I'm like, we're laughing and stuff. I have no idea. I think it's because I was trying to catch my breath because I'm fat and I have a hard time catching my breath. Shannon, you and Smith went to go eat at Subino's, right? The pizza place down there?

02:52:22 - 02:52:26 | Speaker 5:

In Eastern Market. It is so dang good. I know they have another one in, I think, the New Center area.

02:52:27 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 3:

It is a cool-looking place.

02:52:28 - 02:52:35 | Speaker 5:

And they're opening one on, I just saw, they're opening one on Southfield in, I don't know if that's Southfield or Lathrop. I don't know what that is.

02:52:35 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 3:

They are, by the way, it's a really, it's packed during lunchtime, too. People go there, and it's crazy. I don't know how it was at night, but they need gluten-free pizza. Will you please tell them? They don't have it. They have nothing gluten-free except for salads in there, which is not bad, but it's, you know, it's a bummer.

02:52:49 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 2:

Is that the pizza we get for, like, our team meetings here?

02:52:51 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:52:52 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's not that. I don't know what we get. We should get that. Oh, okay. Well, I don't think I've ever had them before. It's honestly, it looks amazing.

02:52:58 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 5:

Like, actually, Smith and I, we sat at the bar, which he thinks he's so cool, and we actually got meatballs. They have those big, like, good, big meatballs and salad. And anyway, so he and I are eating, and this was dinner. And so it's me, Smith, and then I notice on the other side of Smith, there's a guy. He's probably 25 years old, and he's there. You can tell he's there by himself. He had his AirPods in, scrolling on his phone, drinking a beer, orders a pizza for himself. Totally fine. Understand. Except as I'm talking to Smith, I'm kind of watching how this guy is eating and I couldn't help it. He was eating all of his pizza right up until the crust. And then he was making a pile of the crust on his plate. And I'm thinking to myself, as an adult man, you cannot do that. You cannot eat. And the way he was doing it, too, he was eating the pizza. And then it reminded me of that scene in Big where Tom Hanks eats the little teeny tiny corns on the cob. He would go like all the way around the crust, na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, and then put it on the plate. And he'd eat the pizza and then go all the way around the crust, na-na-na-na-na-na, and then put it in a pile on the plate. And I'm thinking, does your mommy cut the crusts off your PB&Js at home, too? You cannot do that as an adult. You got to eat the crust.

02:54:17 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what age it is. It's like 13 or 14. But whatever you didn't do in terms of crusts before that age, it's completely reversed.

02:54:24 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 5:

By the way, the best part of the pizza.

02:54:27 - 02:54:34 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that when he brings a sandwich from home, he cuts it in triangles? Oh, man. It does taste better in triangles.

02:54:34 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 5:

but I'm thinking if this man goes out on a date and he takes his date to subpoena you're telling me he's going to eat his pizza like that and leave a pile full of crust

02:54:44 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 3:

alright let's talk about let's do this let's talk about weird things that people do eating that remind you of like childhood eating how about this how about the person and you know that you've dated somebody like this that doesn't eat with a fork but only uses I don't know.

02:55:00 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 4:

spoon have you ever gone on a date with a guy and he eats with a spoon like he's in and you ever notice that when they do it they do it like this they grab the spoon like this yeah and they like they're like grabbing it with their fist around them instead of doing it yeah um my favorite is we went for sushi chelsea and i went for sushi and to see the guy who was sitting at the table next to us guaranteed on a date cute girl cute guy good-looking guy and he had the little kid chopsticks with the little piece of paper and the rubber band on the top she's using regular chopsticks and he's got the kitty chopsticks you know what i'm talking about yeah the beginner

02:55:42 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 3:

chopstick do you judge me and be honest yeah i am this yeah end of sentence i'm the type of person If I go to, I don't know, any restaurant, it's not super fancy, but if they have the coloring sheet of papers or they have the crossword puzzles or the word search, I have to do it, bro. I'm just saying. I have to finish it, but I've got to do it at least one time. I feel like that's kind of cute. You did a pass for that.

02:56:11 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 4:

Some people actually are really more talented artists as adults than they are as little kids, but that's kind of funny. Don't they have a restaurant that's like that Where they have like coloring books for you

02:56:21 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 1:

They probably do

02:56:23 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 4:

I think they do have like a coloring book place 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548 Amanda what's going on it's Mojo in the morning We're talking about Shannon witnessing a grown ass man Eating like a little child

02:56:35 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 2:

Good morning Mojo and crew

02:56:38 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 4:

What's happening we're doing great

02:56:40 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 2:

Not much I just called in to tell you guys I ate my crust first So that way the cheese in the corner For the piece of the cheese on the corner of the pizza is the last piece I eat.

02:56:51 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I've never heard of that before. What is up with people that don't like crust? I think the crust is actually the best part of the pizza.

02:56:59 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 2:

I like the crust. I just like the cheese in the corner better.

02:57:02 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever known anybody that doesn't like her? Where you start with the crust?

02:57:06 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 4:

No, you never start with the crust. Unless it's like a Jets pizza, like one of those corner pizzas, where the crust is the best or a Chicago-style deep-dish pizza?

02:57:19 - 02:57:23 | Speaker 2:

Rob Dyrdek eats his pizza like I do. Rob, you're actually quoting

02:57:23 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 4:

or you're using him as your reference point on this one. How do you know that he does that?

02:57:28 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 2:

He mentioned it on the show one night.

02:57:29 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, did he really? Okay. Cajun, butter, garlic. Best crust combination. Butter Parmesan is like from Hungry Howie's? Are you talking about? Yes, but you can get it wrong.

02:57:42 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to drop it to Cajun, butter, and then garlic on the crust.

02:57:45 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I thought you were actually telling me to pick one.

02:57:47 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no. You would actually put all that on there. Hell, yeah. It's the combination of the gods.

02:57:52 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 4:

Hungry Howie's does have good. They have good crust. Yeah, their crust is good stuff. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I cannot believe how many people say that they throw their crust away. They don't eat crust.

02:58:10 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 1:

It was just funny how this guy was eating the pizza up to the crust and then making a tower of it.

02:58:15 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:58:16 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 1:

It's like the whole situation.

02:58:18 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 4:

If you're on a date, if you're on a date and you're going on a date and the person eats like a child, do you think they make love like a child? Do you think that, or do you think that they're like a child in other ways?

02:58:32 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 3:

Probably. It's got to be a mental thing.

02:58:34 - 02:58:34 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:58:34 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 3:

Do you feel like how you eat says a lot about you, like more than other things? I really, really do.

02:58:39 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 4:

I've heard people say that they think that I would be horrible in bed because I chew with my mouth open and I eat fast. How does that translate? They equate that to being fast in bed.

02:58:51 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Because you eat fast?

02:58:52 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes. That I'm like a fast, I'm like I don't savor it. Where sex you would think. Oh, interesting. Which, by the way, they're absolutely right. They aren't wrong on that. Have you ever thought about that? Think about the guys that you've been with and the way that they eat.

02:59:08 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 1:

I said that with such conviction because this is Wes. Wes is the politest, most well-mannered eater I have ever seen in my whole entire life. And this is coming from a girl who had to go to etiquette school for like seven years. But the way that he eats is so just like intentional and he eats slow. Psychotic. And he uses, he like butts up the food against his knife and then like turns the fork over to put it in his mouth. It is just very methodical, and that is how Wes is. That's his brain. Very methodical.

02:59:43 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 4:

And that's how it is in the bedroom, too?

02:59:45 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 1:

No. And he turns the fork around.

02:59:52 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Dustin, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Not much. How are you guys doing today? We're good. What's going on, buddy?

02:59:58 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm getting hungry.

02:59:59 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Not much.

03:00:00 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 1:

My coworker does that with pizza. He leaves the crust, and he's like 34 years old. Oh, God. I don't understand it. It's just funny. Yeah. I love the crust. I agree with Mojo. The crust is one of the best parts.

03:00:13 - 03:00:27 | Speaker 2:

He's a child. He's a child. Maybe he's not watching his carbs. Have you ever seen somebody that just eats the toppings off of a pizza? Peels the peppers. Because they don't want the carbohydrates. What's going on? How you doing, Dalton?

03:00:28 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good. What's up? Hey, yeah, me and my friend Armando, we went to a place called Cici's, and it's like a pizza buffet. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was great. We had 118 pieces of pizza between the two of us.

03:00:44 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 2:

118?

03:00:46 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 1:

118 between the two of us, but we didn't eat the crust, so we could keep track of how many we ate. Oh, my God. Wait, did they kick you out? It's a pizza buffet. Yeah, are they still open? There used to be one next to the old radio station. No, no, they're closed down now. Because of people like you. They told us to leave.

03:01:07 - 03:01:08 | Speaker 2:

Tomatoes was the one by the station.

03:01:09 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, there was also a CeCe's right there.

03:01:10 - 03:01:51 | Speaker 2:

So the Tomatoes pizza, which was an all-you-can-e buffet during the day. They still have that. And Bo and Dom would go there during lunch, and both of them were big dudes. Bo actually looks fabulous right now, so you can listen to him on OMC. But he's such a great guy. But he and Don would go there during lunch, I think, with Big Boy. So the three of these guys would pull their big old fat asses up to the buffet, and they would eat like crazy. And I would get calls the next day from the manager of Tomatoes going, we don't want those guys here anymore. Please don't come back. Yeah, they would get mad. They were like, if you came, it would push it even over the top. What's up, Sal? Hi.

03:01:53 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I can say that this is a long time, but first time for me. I was a kid.

03:02:00 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Aw, thank you. What's going on?

03:02:03 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 4:

So for me and my girlfriend, one of the ways that, like, I knew that I was, like, kind of, like, meant to be, or, like, one of the little fun things about us is she hates pizza crust, unless it's, like, an ultra-slavered cheese to the very end. She does not like that. And I will eat her crust.

03:02:22 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

03:02:22 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Because I don't care. It's, like, a breadstick for me. Facts.

03:02:25 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 2:

So I eat crust. You eat her crust?

03:02:29 - 03:02:29 | Unknown:

What?

03:02:29 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Lesbian! From the back?

03:02:33 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 2:

That's so good.

03:02:36 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 4:

What we do most of the time is I just have her rip it off of it, and then she just, so I don't actually have to, like, eat the part she's eating. We did that at the beginning. You guys!

03:02:48 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 2:

This is unbelievable. By the way, I don't know if we're allowed to talk about stuff like this on the radio, but what was it like the first time you did it?

03:02:55 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 4:

um the first time she did it i was like i noticed i'm also a very frugal person so i try not like when we went out to eat for the first time it was slow down slow down when you say it it was really stressful for me the first time we went out to eat and to specifically get pizza because i'm such a frugal person that i'm like what's the smallest thing we can get and i was noticing she wasn't eating the crust i was like do you not eat your crust and she's like no i haven't since i was a child none of my family does like her entire family doesn't

03:03:29 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 3:

and i was like can i eat it and she's like i'm fine sure i'm not gonna eat i'm just gonna throw it away i just started nibbling on it oh my god wow my god when you started nibbling on it what did she say we're just like this is kind of perfect because i've never eaten crust in my entire life and i mean i was like great i've always eaten crust so i guess i just get a

03:03:59 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 2:

little more pizza now wow what a what a day what a day this is poor girl she is a lesbian was her crust better than yours

03:04:13 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 3:

it was all my pizza it was the same pizza well Sal

03:04:22 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 2:

thank you so much I appreciate that that was wonderful

03:04:25 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 1:

alright so here's the story

03:04:30 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Nico knows why he's not getting a call back or kind of has a feeling on his first date his credit card got declined uh-oh nico what's up uh-oh better call mako nico what's going on buddy what's up what's up um i think i'm getting ghosted and uh yeah just i need some help so it's been more than two weeks since you guys have talked to each other since the date.

03:05:00 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 5:

and your credit card got declined, we're going to find out exactly what's going on and why Kennedy is so bummed out about this whole thing. Or maybe it's not. Maybe it's something else. Kennedy is on the phone with us right now. Kennedy, will you say hello to Nico? And Nico, will you say hello to Kennedy?

03:05:16 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

03:05:17 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up? Wait. Kennedy, how are you feeling, by the way, about this? Are you okay with being on the radio?

03:05:27 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm okay. It's fine.

03:05:30 - 03:05:44 | Speaker 5:

Okay, it doesn't sound like it is, but let me ask you, is it that his credit card got declined? Is that the reason why you are not calling him back? Because he seems very embarrassed about that happening.

03:05:45 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, he said he was going to pay me back, and he never did.

03:05:50 - 03:05:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so it's actually more to that. So what happened, Kennedy?

03:05:53 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, we went to He wanted to go to a hotel for the night And his card got declined Said he was going to pay me back I never did I never even wanted to go to the hotel in the first place But he did

03:06:09 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 5:

So wait, I understand you guys went to a concert

03:06:11 - 03:06:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we went to a concert

03:06:14 - 03:06:15 | Speaker 5:

What did you guys go see?

03:06:16 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 2:

We saw Wiz Khalifa

03:06:17 - 03:06:31 | Speaker 5:

Okay, and then After the concert, you guys went and went to a hotel. You stayed in a hotel. And so, Nico, you go to the hotel, your credit card gets declined. What's the thoughts?

03:06:32 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, I just, like, you know, it was one of those, like, security things that just tripped it up, and so it got declined. So, just, she was cool. She was like, no problem, I got this. You can just pay me back. So, I thought everything was fine. So. And I just haven't heard from her, you know.

03:06:49 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 6:

So, you remember having a conversation of you paying her back.

03:06:54 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah. But, like, I don't know. We both stayed at the hotel. I thought, like, at some point she was going to be like, hey, no problem, just, like, hit me back for half, you know?

03:07:04 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 6:

So you said you was going to pay her back and just never paid her back.

03:07:08 - 03:07:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, she stopped talking to me. So I was like, you know, like, that part never even came up. I guess I could have just, like, sent her the money. Maybe that would have. Yeah.

03:07:16 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 6:

But did she stop talking to you before or after you just didn't pay her back?

03:07:23 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, I haven't paid her back at all, so she stopped talking entirely. And then I was like, well, I got to get her to start talking before I'm going to pay her back.

03:07:31 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 5:

Wait, wait, why do you have to get her to start talking before you're going to pay her back? Why not just pay her back and say, I'm sorry?

03:07:38 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, because like I said, like, you know, we had a good time. It was like, I didn't think it was a big deal. So I think at the very least, like she should be like, you know what? No problem. Just pay me half. And then we would be settled and we could like move on. You know what I'm saying?

03:07:53 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second here. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to ask a quick question. And this is a very important question. When your credit card gets declined, why not just say, let's not go to the hotel?

03:08:13 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 6:

That's embarrassing, bro. Why not just say. We're already there.

03:08:17 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we were there. It was late. Like, we were, and we were still, like, vibing and having a good time. So, I didn't want the night to end.

03:08:24 - 03:08:50 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. To me, at that point right there, if I don't have the money, I'm not going to say, hey, you pay for this. I'm going to say, you know what? I'm really sorry. Let's, like, let's go to maybe my debit card to go to, I don't know, or let's go to my house. Like, you don't, I don't understand. and I'm assuming that you guys got a hotel because of the proximity of where the show is compared to where you live, or was it because you were trying to get laid in a hotel room?

03:08:52 - 03:09:07 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it was convenience. It was right there. We were having a good time. We didn't have to do the awkward, like, whose place are we going to? Like, we'd had a couple drinks, so we were like, you know, just kind of, it was the ease of it. It was just, like, right there. All right. So I just thought it would be fun.

03:09:07 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 5:

Melissa, what are your thoughts on this one right now?

03:09:11 - 03:09:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so if he really liked her, if he really wanted to hear back from her, all he had to do was say via text, what is your Venmo? There you go, literally, right?

03:09:21 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Four words. That's where you get, that's where all of a sudden you get her to call you back. Give me your Venmo or cash app. You know what I mean?

03:09:30 - 03:09:32 | Speaker 1:

She was fun real quick. Ridiculous.

03:09:33 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Sean, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

03:09:37 - 03:09:38 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

03:09:39 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 5:

What are your thoughts, Sean?

03:09:41 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 3:

Man, my boy tripping, man. You should have sent that girl her money back immediately. Hey, Sam. You said you were going to pay her back.

03:09:49 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Nico, you're listening?

03:09:51 - 03:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I hear you. I mean, that's... Like, I don't know. That's weird, bro.

03:09:58 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 1:

That is weird.

03:10:00 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 7:

Shervana, what's up, Shervana?

03:10:05 - 03:10:25 | Speaker 5:

It's Trevana, and I am, as a woman, as a woman, we want a man that can keep his word. If you can't keep your word, like, why would I want a date to? Like, you asked me to go on a date. Like, come on now. Like, you asked me on a date. And I understand that things happen, but it's about keeping your word. You should have did what you said. You're going to do.

03:10:25 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I'm going to tell you something, Trevana. What is your name? Just call her T. Travonna. Travonna. Travonna. I'm going to tell you that this guy might be the smartest guy in the world. Maybe this is a thing. Maybe he goes on dates, pretends like he's got a free hotel room out of the day. Hotel Swindler.

03:10:46 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so he finessed.

03:10:47 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 7:

He might have finessed a little bit. This is better than winning a contest on the Mojo in the Morning Show. You get a hotel stay and Wiz Khalifa tickets. Hold on. Michelle, you've been on a date before when your credit card got declined. or the date's credit card got declined?

03:11:03 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Yeah, it was my debit card that got declined, actually. I asked the guy out on a date. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings, so I was like, I'm paying. We went out there. They gave us the bill. I gave them my card, and they're like, it's not working. And I know I had money in there because I got paid that day. But for whatever reason, it wasn't letting me use my money, so I called the bank the next day, And apparently, I was being garnished, and all of my money was taken for a Toys R Us credit card that I forgot I even had and never paid.

03:11:39 - 03:11:40 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

03:11:42 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 3:

He had to pay. Thankfully, he didn't make me pay him back. Yeah, why are you paying anyway?

03:11:47 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 6:

That guy should have been paying. I'm telling you. That's crazy.

03:11:49 - 03:12:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, because I was like, hey, let's go out. My tree, you know, I want to do something special for you. and we were going to go, like, shopping and sh** towards, you know, have a good just hang out because it was a break from his daughter and whatnot. But we didn't get to do all that because...

03:12:07 - 03:12:10 | Speaker 7:

Who garnished your credit, your debit card?

03:12:11 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 3:

It was when Toys R Us went bankrupt. So it was Toys R Us.

03:12:15 - 03:12:22 | Speaker 7:

Man, I'm telling you, what's the difference between... I don't get it. Why would Toys R Us be garnishing your credit card? That makes no sense.

03:12:22 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Because I had a credit card through Toys R Us. before they closed. Oh, okay. And at the time, I lost my job, so I stopped paying on it. And then when they went bankrupt, they decided to garnish me for the money I never paid.

03:12:38 - 03:12:40 | Speaker 7:

Okay, sorry. That's kind of weird.

03:12:40 - 03:12:44 | Speaker 6:

It's a difference between present balance and available balance.

03:12:44 - 03:12:52 | Speaker 7:

You got to make sure you know which one you work it with. Whitney wants to say something to Kennedy. What did you want to say to Kennedy, Whitney?

03:12:52 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 4:

no i just definitely feel like he never had any intentions of paying her back i feel like by the way he's talking he was like oh i just assumed because the night went good and oh you you were gonna let me give half it's just like everything he was saying was leading up to the fact that he thought the night was gonna go so good that she was gonna be like oh just keep

03:13:15 - 03:13:22 | Speaker 6:

the money like he never even how good did the night end if you know what i mean yeah did it go Did he go there?

03:13:22 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 7:

Was there anything that happened at this hotel? I mean, we had a good time. We definitely had a good time. She's super mad. Who paid for the condoms?
