00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:58 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:34 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo head. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 with Shannon and Kev and Lydia, Bianca, Zach. My name is Mojo. It's good to have you guys here with us today. You were talking about all the ways that people will cheat or do things that they don't want other people to know about. um this morning's war of the roses is one of them shannon we're gonna start off we gotta talk about

00:01:34 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 1:

uh the the snapchat story okay so i don't i don't know if this is a thing or if this is a thing that is only happening to a guy friend of mine who he's been divorced for a couple of months now um and so he is starting to date again he's on the dating apps and he was telling me that this has happened multiple times where he will start talking to a girl on like he loves hinge he'll start talking to a girl on hinge and after two or three days he will get either a snap or a dm from the same girl on instagram or snapchat obviously of her boobs and he's like it didn't just happen once this is a thing that has happened multiple times and he's like by the way unsolicited i'm not asking for naked photos i'm not asking for boob pics it's just a a thing i like your boobies and he said that he feels like it's kind of gross because he knows that some of the pics that he's getting are recycled right and he says that especially like he'll notice one of the girls sent him like a bikini photo and before she sent him the boob pic and he's like i know she hasn't been on vacation lately because we talked about that so he's like how many people is she sending this same picture too which is fine but still grosses him out what he needs to do is the old

00:02:55 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 3:

school thing where people remember would take a picture of themselves in front of like something that had the date on it he's not he's not like that so for him as soon as that happens he's like

00:03:10 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 1:

and i'm done talking to this person so one it's interesting that these women and he's my age so for let's say he's 40 um it's interesting that these women one just do this unsolicited but also and I told him that this isn't that weird he's like they will they will take my name and everything from hinge and then go find my profile on instagram and deep dive me and then send me a dm on instagram where we haven't even had a conversation yet are boot pics as prominent

00:03:43 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

as guys that send D-picks? Like who, I mean, I would think, I think like mirror selfies are probably the most common, right? For women? For women to send. Yeah, no, for sure. And then, I think then there's boob pics. But it seems like you hear stories about guys that send D-picks, but I've never heard a guy not be happy with the boob pics that are coming.

00:04:03 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 1:

But again, he's not that kind of guy. Like that is a huge turn. He's not a boob pic guy. No, it's just a huge turnoff for him where he's just meeting and he hasn't even met these women in person yet and he's getting boob

00:04:16 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 3:

pics somebody was telling me it's funny because i would think that that would be something that would you know be like a 20 something or early 30 somethings doing somebody was telling me that you get more boob pics over the age of 40 like they're the one of the guys that's also a divorced guy that's a friend of mine he says that uh getting boob pics is as easy as it's ever been for some reason and he said he said that he feels like women who are in their 40s or 50s never got a chance to really do the boob pic thing because there was really no no there's no technology around at that time are you saying they're making up for lost they're making up for

00:04:53 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

lost time with their boob pics but i just i just go back to and wes was the only guy that i dated after i got divorced and we 3.

00:05:00 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 3:

you know, like chatted for a long time before we even met and nowhere in my right mind would I ever be like, I think out of the blue, I'm just going to send him a picture of my boobs. I mean, let's be real. I don't have boobs anyway, so that's kind of funny in itself, but that's not where I would ever go.

00:05:16 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 4:

No, but you know what though? I, I think that, especially not even having ever met him. I think that this, there's probably more to this and I don't know, Holly might be onto something. What is your thoughts on this, Holly?

00:05:30 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 7:

I think she's looking for a subscriber for her OnlyFans.

00:05:33 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I wonder if the girls that are sending these boob pics are also people that probably are on OnlyFans.

00:05:40 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

And that's what I'm going to say, Holly. Plural. This didn't just happen one time. This is like a pattern that he's seeing.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 5:

I would love to know how many 40 and up ladies are on OnlyFans.

00:05:51 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah? Why, you think it's more younger people? Yeah, of course. Yeah. Holly, do you ever send a boob pic?

00:05:57 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 7:

I have not. What you waiting on, Holly?

00:06:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

Because it seems like something, honestly, that you need to catch up for lost time on.

00:06:07 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no. I'd rather show the real thing to the man I love. Oh, I love that. Holly, you got a man in your life? I do. Send him a boob pic today.

00:06:16 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 7:

We're going on about a year of dating.

00:06:16 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 5:

Send him a boob pic today. Just make it happen.

00:06:18 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask you this. We're on lunchtime.

00:06:20 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to make him listen to this.

00:06:21 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Holly, when he's not around and you guys are distanced from each other, would you rather send him a boob pic or FaceTime naked?

00:06:28 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 1:

oh gosh that's a hard one i'd probably a boot pick i think more women are into facetiming

00:06:36 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 4:

naked because then they know that the picture's not going to anywhere else right and it's not it's not up there in the the photography atmosphere you know cloud what's up heather how you doing good how are you this morning we're good what's going on heather sometimes i feel those

00:06:52 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 6:

accounts aren't even real accounts i think that like there's scammers that are in there because like why would you just you're talking to a guy why would you just send them boobs like i don't

00:07:06 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 4:

it just makes no sense yeah yeah you know what that's interesting i wonder if it's not a legit person sometimes if they're sending boob pics he's is he having conversation verbally with them

00:07:14 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 3:

beforehand or yes and again when he gets the boob pics they're never in like the i don't know if If you call it Hinge Chat, I was not editing. It's Snap or Instagram.

00:07:26 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 5:

That's a way, like going on Tinder and you match with somebody, that's how I can tell somebody's a scam. Literally the first thing that they message you is, do you have SC? Do you have Snapchat? At that point, it's like, okay, you a scam. Eventually this is going to lead to you asking for my Venmo or my bank account or something. Vicky, what's up, Vicky?

00:07:45 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 4:

Going good. What's going on?

00:07:49 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

I think not necessarily boob pics, but cleavage pics are a popular thing.

00:07:53 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Cleavage pics are classier. Yeah. Are they? Yeah. It leads to the imagination. Yeah. It gives you a little tease.

00:08:02 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

Or they put on, like, you know, they might be, like, in a dressing room trying on lingerie and be like, this one, this one, this one. But I think they're bigger on cleavage pics.

00:08:12 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Like, to me, as a guy, I would rather go, and how does this top look on me? and it's a great picture. You know what I mean? Like one of those type of things. Then all of a sudden, here's the tube socks staring right at you. The tube socks.

00:08:26 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 5:

The used socks. Vicky sounds very sultry. She sounds like she sent a couple of lingerie photos. Lingerie?

00:08:35 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever been with tube socks before?

00:08:38 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 5:

No, I haven't crossed that bridge.

00:08:40 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Where all of a sudden they come out and you're like, holy crap, those are tube socks.

00:08:43 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 5:

I will say, after you give birth, though, you start breastfeeding. and they do hang a little lower.

00:08:47 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 4:

They do. What's up, Wendy? Hi.

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:08:53 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

I think unfulcited boob pictures is a huge red flag to me. So either they're not really their boobs, and they're just trying to entice the guy, or they're just looking for a hookup and not really a relationship.

00:09:07 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:09:08 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

It's definitely a red flag, and also I think that as a guy, I don't know if I want to date the girl that within, like, a couple of weeks or a month is just sending me the boo pics. Like, make you work for it a little bit.

00:09:22 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. It all matters

00:09:24 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 4:

what you're in it for. Thank you for the call. What's up, Jodi? Hi.

00:09:29 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 7:

Hi. First time long time. Hey, Jodi! Jodi! You guys, I listen to you every morning on my way to work and I'm always like, let me call. I need my

00:09:40 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

moment. Man, please. Well, call us more often then. Have your moment. Yeah, what's happening? Okay.

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 7:

First of all, me and my boyfriend have been together for years upon years upon years. And I promise you, if he sends me a D-Pick, I will be so scared. Like, do not ever do that to me. He said one years ago, like, we've been together.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 5:

almost 18 years so when he sent it i mean we've been together forever you have to think about like phone quality terrible um and he sent it so close up and zoomed in i could have done like my own investigation discovery on it i was like don't you ever do that again you know what'd be great

00:10:15 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 4:

though it would be great to get like a d-pic from some dude and then say to him you know you got something there you might want to get looked at right and just respond with that just to freak

00:10:25 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 5:

him out you know okay but full disclaimer though that's my baby he's the best but also don't ever

00:10:32 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 4:

do that again yeah yeah cav pulled out an app the other day that was the app that made you look older you know it's like that that aging app i want i want to try that app on my day okay please do like like will my will my d look like ed asner you know Remember in the movie Up? The old man from the movie Up? That would be my day. Like, oh my God.

00:10:59 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay, please report back to us. We need to know. Do we need to know?

00:11:05 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 6:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:12:37 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 5:

It was definitely the dress, the blue dress. No, don't do that.

00:12:42 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 4:

Do not do that. You know that dress is going in white.

00:12:46 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 5:

That dress was blue and black for sure.

00:12:50 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Congratulations to you. You can wear whatever dress you want. Actually, I'd probably wear like a sundress because it's going to be warm, but you're going to be at Nelly and Ja Rule out at Pine Knob. Congratulations.

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much.

00:13:02 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

00:13:36 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:13:38 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon's going to do the dirty. And we got the War of the Roses coming up this morning after 7 o'clock. What's going on, Shannon?

00:13:45 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

You probably saw this news and an update yesterday in Georgia. A sergeant shot five soldiers at one of our country's largest army bases before he was quickly tackled by some other Fort Stewart troops, forcing a brief lockdown of the base. Officials said the shooter, his name is Sergeant Cornelius Radford, used a personal handgun, not a military firearm, opening fire where he works.

00:14:08 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 3:

I know that his soldiers in the area that witnessed the shooting immediately and without hesitation tackled the soldiers, subdued him, that allowed law enforcement to then take him into custody. These soldiers, without a doubt, prevented further casualties.

00:14:26 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

Now, the good news, the injured soldiers were stable. They are stable, I should say, and expected to recover. We don't have a motive for why this guy did this yet.

00:14:33 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

He got a DUI just like a week or so ago, and they think that he got into trouble and was going to get ratted out by some of his fellow servicemen. And the part that now everybody is wondering is how was he able to get a civilian weapon onto the base because they check you every single time that you come through. and I know that the

00:15:00 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

head of the army is actually there today to check on security. But it's interesting. It was well-trained soldiers that jumped in and stopped him and were able to capture him without having to kill him because he's now going to have to serve. According to, I saw yesterday, there was a press conference and I saw Trump saying that this is not going to be good for him because he's going to be serving a lot of time for doing what he did. If you get in trouble in the military, it is way different than if you get in trouble, like here on the streets of Detroit, Grand Rapids, or Toledo. I mean, they do not mess around when it comes to sentencing you.

00:15:37 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 1:

The Detroit Lions 2025 season opener against the Green Bay Packers will be broadcast by CBS's top crew, consisting of play-by-play announcer Jim Nance, color commentator Tony Romo, and sideline reporter your buddy Mojo Tracy Wilson. The week one game scheduled for Sunday, September 7th at 425 p.m. from Lambeau Field. Now, this is a big deal because it shows. And we know at least the Lions are a major TV draw. So the best of the best team.

00:16:05 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Who do you like the best as far as the broadcast teams? Do you like the CBS team, the Fox team?

00:16:12 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 2:

You know, you got Tony Romo, Joe Buck.

00:16:14 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, you got Tony Romo and Jim Nance on CBS. And then you have on.

00:16:21 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Troy Aikman, Joe Buck.

00:16:23 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Troy Aikman, Joe Buck, Monday Night Football, ESPN. And then on Fox is, what's that, the one guy? The tight end? No, it's Tom Brady is the main guy.

00:16:32 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm excited to see, because that was his first year last year, right? Yeah. I'm excited to see the growth this year, yeah. But I like Tony Romo, man. He knows what he's talking about. He predicts things before they actually happen. I like Tony Romo.

00:16:44 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 1:

John Cena said getting a hair transplant last November has changed his life. The WWE star had been dealing with hair loss in a very specific spot on the back of his head for years and years. And he said if there wasn't so much shame and stigma about getting a hair transplant, he would have done it a decade ago.

00:17:04 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 4:

It's because I also want the audience to know that, like, I see your signs. The one that says the bald John Cena. Like, I get it. And they pushed me into going to see what my options were. So I ended up getting a transplant in last November.

00:17:22 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 1:

I like that he's being transparent about it. And he said, look, now I have a very specific routine of red light therapy, vitamins, and special shampoo and conditioner.

00:17:31 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

My favorite hair transplants guy, look it up online. Brian Urlacher, the former Chicago Bears. It is the greatest. They have billboards all over the Chicago area. And anybody that goes to Chicago knows this. It is so drastic. the difference between his hair transplants. It looks like a toupee. It doesn't look like a transplant.

00:17:52 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Does he talk about his, or is he like, I didn't have anything done?

00:17:55 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 3:

I think that he does because he does the commercials for them. Oh, okay. But I don't necessarily think he was pretty forthcoming with it right away. And then all of a sudden, the billboards are all over the place, and everybody's like, what the hell just happened?

00:18:07 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to Brian Urlacher.

00:18:08 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 3:

He was a beast. He was a beast, wasn't he?

00:18:10 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Lady Gaga has written and recorded a brand new song called Dead Dance for season two of Netflix's very popular show Wednesday with the music video being directed by Tim Burton. It is very her mayhem era in terms of vibes if you're a Gaga fan, if you're a little monster. She's also, remember, appearing in the show's season as a mysterious Nevermore Academy teacher. Her episode arrives in part two. That drops on September 3rd. You can catch up on everything you've missed, not only from the dirty, but from the show. Just search Mojo in the morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:18:43 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 5:

Missed something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com. When your cheating ex gets cheated on. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:18:57 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. God, I feel like I am sunburned again after going to the game yesterday. We had such a good time. I went to the Tigers' day game, even though I'm 0 for 2 right now. I've been to two games. They've lost both games.

00:19:15 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 2:

You can't even say that because they have lost so many more games.

00:19:18 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 3:

No, but I went to a game when they were winning. You started it. Yeah, before the All-Star break, and I lost a game. So yesterday went to a game. A bunch of us, Chelsea and a bunch of our friends were there, and then Lydia and Zach were part of the team that went. And, Zach, you should come in studio for this one real quick because this is funny, and Lydia joined too. We got a chance to sit in those priority seats, those priority waste seats that they're right behind home plate.

00:19:46 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 2:

The best seats.

00:19:47 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

And this was the first time that I have had an opportunity to sit in these seats with that suite open. And the way that these things work are, and I don't know how much these seats are, but they're way out of our price league.

00:20:00 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 2:

We ended up getting some freebies yesterday, which was really sweet. Thank you to Todd and Jody for that. But you go into these suites kind of like they have at the Red Wings and Pistons games, but I'm telling you, even better. Like, I'm not kidding, even better. You go in, you walk into this area that's right underneath the seats, like literally in a bunker area. It's so nice inside there. It looks like you're in the Taj Mahal.

00:20:29 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 1:

I felt like the president. It was amazing.

00:20:32 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 2:

You walk up to the bar, and all the alcohol and all the food is free, and the bar has nothing but the top shelf of top shelf booze.

00:20:41 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 1:

Like Buffalo Trace. What were the other ones? I had Jack and Coke.

00:20:47 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny. They have every high-quality alcohol, and the guy chooses the captain. Captain Morgan is who he's got to go with. You know what you know. You're still like a little kid that likes sweet drinks, don't you?

00:20:59 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 1:

I do.

00:20:59 - 00:21:57 | Speaker 2:

I heard you had some drinks, sir. Oh, I drank so, Shannon, I drank so much. Which, by the way, you can see my tannas again, like farmer's tanny, from wearing a T-shirt. It's bad. You and Zach are twins. I drank, I had, the bartender is a big listener of the show, which she's such a sweetheart. And the second time that I saw her, too, because I saw her the last time I was at the game. And she goes, pouring me a double. It was lemonade and buffalo trays. And then she hands it to me and she goes, be careful around the stairs. which by the way you have to be careful because those stairs going down from the seats oh my god that's great so the lawsuit will be better there than where you were the first believe me can you imagine okay so here's the thing when you go somewhere like you go to a wedding or you go to a party like our magazine had a party and if you know that the food and beverage is really good and it's all free do you just find yourself over indulging that's the only way to do it

00:21:57 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 1:

I actually didn't yesterday. Oh, I was awesome. Zach didn't.

00:22:00 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 3:

I was so surprised. Really?

00:22:01 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Why didn't you? I just, I don't know. I was more into the game and having a good time, and I didn't want to look like a slob in front of Ryan. There it goes. That's the right one. That's the right one.

00:22:11 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 2:

So Ryan Kessler, our buddy, played for the Vancouver Connects there, and he's one of Zach's heroes. He loves that guy. I love this guy so much. And by the way, Ryan loved you. I felt nervous. I said, Zach was worried. He actually asked me before. He goes, if I start getting too nerdy, pull me away because I don't want to embarrass myself. And Ryan was getting equally nerdy with you, talking hockey and stuff. But I ate and drank like a freaking pig. And I take that shot, and that shot keeps you from doing any of this stuff. Like, you can't have that much. But I was like, if Chris Illich is going to ever give us free stuff, he doesn't usually give you anything for free. I'm going to eat and drink it all. I'm going to make this guy wish He never had this sweet ever I'm going to drink so much It's so crazy Jennifer what's going on how you doing

00:22:59 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god I'm so glad You guys are talking about this I just went on Monday with my fiance

00:23:05 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 2:

And did you sit in those same seats

00:23:07 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Yes so he won tickets From work and there were $4.75 a ticket I know Those seats are unbelievable Listen, like you, Mojo, I was like, this is a once-in-a-lifetime for us because we, listen, I'm from the hood. I'm in Southwest Detroit. We can't afford this on a regular basis. So I said, we're living it up. I drink rum and Coke. I ate until I felt like I was about to throw up.

00:23:38 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 2:

Did you try the little fancy tomahawk steaks? Did you try those? What? Oh, my gosh.

00:23:44 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me? I missed them. I got there too. They had sushi too.

00:23:48 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 2:

They had sushi. I would have been filling my purse at that point. That's not for weird. Oh, the desserts?

00:23:56 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 3:

The wall with all the candy. Did you see? Oh, they had a candy bar. They had a candy wall. Lydia, did you take pictures? Oh, yeah. I have some pictures. I have videos. I'll send you videos, Shannon, on Insta. Please do.

00:24:08 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 2:

I made so much money. The earnings of Little Caesars just went down so much. I'm telling you, they'll never let me go back to that. sweet ever again i was trying to see i was trying to see if i could fit things in my pockets and i couldn't i realized next time i go i'm wearing cargo pants my lunch today is from the

00:24:29 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 3:

snack pack is it really oh yeah i brought them in oh my god borrowed uh some they have a little

00:24:35 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 1:

tupperware of fruits and like charcuterie yeah so i brought the charcuterie in

00:24:40 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 2:

And their hot dogs were The hot dogs were all beef Freaking kosher dogs They were so good Guys, I'm not going to lie to you guys I think I got a bottle of Buffalo Trace In my pants right now It was so good Did you tell Kev about the 9 and 9 for Luke? Oh my Well, let me just say this to you. I got him in trouble. Luke's idea was to do a nine and nine. He wanted to do nine. He wanted nine beers and nine hot dogs in the nine innings. I've seen his. Nine and nine is not good. And Zach, by the way, here's Zach. Yeah, let's go. Let's go. I was hyped up. You had to hype him up. And then he's drinking Dasani water. Which, by the way, they still have Dasani water. Dasani water's the worst. Why do people hate Dasani water? You can't have Dasani water. It became popular to hate Dasani. No, when you're famous. I don't taste the dinks. When you have all the famous boozes, you can't have the worst bottled water. It just is awful. How far did he get in a nine-and-nine? I don't know. I think he had 10 beers and only four hot dogs, from what I heard. That's still pretty good, though. So the equation changes. Jennifer, love you. I'm so happy that you got to win those tickets. What's the name of the company that your husband works for? That's a great company to give that out.

00:25:50 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So he works at the dispensary called Pure Options. Wow. And it was, yes, yes. You got the best option. So, for sure, yeah. So he got, you know, free weed in the competition and free tickets in the competition. That's great. I'm not getting happier.

00:26:07 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to him. What a great company to do that for him. So that's cool.

00:26:12 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 3:

let's do it catching cheaters and proud of it ow i'm sorry it's your home for war of the roses

00:31:50 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 2:

Sabrina, you saw something in his phone that makes you think that he's cheating. What was it? Was it like a text message?

00:32:00 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 5:

No, it was something in the notes app.

00:32:03 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 2:

So there was notes about his cheating?

00:32:08 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 5:

No, like, so I saw a notification on his phone that someone had edited a shared note. And like, I have his passwords to everything. on his own. What did it say? It was just like a bunch of stuff that didn't really make sense, like random notes, and then emojis that seemed sexual.

00:32:38 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 4:

Who was it shared with? Because I have it too, but I know, I can see who's updating it. What was the name on there? Did you see?

00:32:48 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 5:

It was shared with someone named Ari. I don't know who Ari is. I've never met Ari. And the name of the note was Shush.

00:32:59 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 2:

What does your boyfriend do? What kind of work does he do?

00:33:04 - 00:33:07 | Speaker 5:

He has, like, a computer job. He works in software.

00:33:09 - 00:33:19 | Speaker 2:

Do you know if he's got a co-worker? Because a lot of times when people are cheating, they usually are cheating with co-workers. Do you know if he's got somebody named Ari that works with him?

00:33:20 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 5:

I mean, he's never told me about, like, I thought his team was all guys. He's never told me about NR or, like, anyone who's a girl who he works closely with.

00:33:31 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so what would he be doing? He'd be just sending messages through the Notes app to them instead of using text message.

00:33:38 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 4:

But what an idiot, because you still get an alert every time.

00:33:42 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 2:

Does he know that you have his passwords?

00:33:46 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 5:

No, he logged in one time, and I just saw it.

00:33:50 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 2:

So do you check his stuff a lot?

00:33:54 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 5:

Not a lot, but like sometimes, especially if I feel like something's weird.

00:33:59 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 2:

Have you been checking a lot since you saw this notes app?

00:34:03 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:34:04 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Mute your phone so that he doesn't get suspicious that you're on. And we're hoping that the flowers go to Sabrina.

00:34:19 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 5:

Okay. hello hi is this garrett

00:34:30 - 00:34:55 | Speaker 4:

yeah speaking hi garrett my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer some really easy survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses yeah okay it's just two questions uh have you purchased flowers in the last six months no do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months

00:34:55 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 3:

maybe

00:35:00 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 1:

That's actually all I needed from you. I told you it was fast. And I'm now authorized to provide you with that one dozen long-stemmed red roses from rosesbloom.com. So I just want you to think about who you want to send some flowers to. They will go out today. And then go ahead and give me a first name and a last name of that person.

00:35:20 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 4:

Ari?

00:35:24 - 00:35:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And what is her telephone number? Okay, what's our relationship to you? Well, so I need to know on my end because I'm starting a profile for you, so I just have to check a box for that.

00:35:52 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 4:

A friend.

00:35:53 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 1:

A friend? Okay, and red roses are okay, or did you want me to change the arrangement?

00:35:57 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, fine.

00:35:58 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Garrett, we also do something unique at rosesbloom.com, and instead of sending a paper card with the flowers today, we are going to record a voice note here in just a second. And so when Ari gets, when the flowers get delivered, Ari's going to get a text message alerting her she has a delivery, and then she'll be able to play this voice note that we're going to record. Does that make sense to you? Yeah, sure. Okay, I'm going to count you down and you just start

00:36:24 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 4:

talking. 3, 2, 1. Hey, it's Garrett. Hope you're doing great. Okay. Do you like that or you want

00:36:39 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 1:

to redo it? Yeah, let's leave it. Okay. Garrett, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:36:48 - 00:37:11 | Speaker 2:

uh sure okay garrett i just want to jump on real quick and just let you know uh that while we were talking to you and you were sending the flowers to ari that your girlfriend sabrina was listening in and just heard every word that you just said.

00:37:13 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Okay. What's going on? Why?

00:37:20 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 2:

Sabrina contacted us here at the Mojo in the Morning Show and wanted to know where you were going to send a dozen free roses and was a little bit worried that you were cheating on her and she just heard you send flowers to the woman that she was worried you were cheating with.

00:37:38 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 4:

It's my friend who overcame cancer.

00:37:44 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 2:

So it's your friend is sick?

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my friend had cancer.

00:37:53 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 1:

Does Sabrina know who this friend is? Or know of her?

00:37:58 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 3:

No, I've never heard of an Ari. Never heard of anyone with cancer. I think he's lying. What kind of cancer your friend got?

00:38:08 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Uh, stage four.

00:38:17 - 00:38:18 | Unknown:

What kind?

00:38:19 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 3:

That's not a kind of cancer.

00:38:23 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 4:

Stage four is a level of cancer.

00:38:27 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 3:

What kind of cancer? Like cancer where?

00:38:32 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know the details on cancer. I'm not a doctor. I just know they have cancer. That's all I know about it. i don't i'm not accessible with their medical records i'm not trying details on that you

00:38:45 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 3:

stop lying i saw the notes app on your phone i don't think this is a friend and i don't think

00:38:52 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 4:

she has cancer like why are you going through my notes i don't need to take this

00:38:59 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 3:

are you serious

00:39:05 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

he hung up the phone

00:39:08 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

oh like are you kidding me like cancer that's insane I don't know that might have been

00:39:17 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 2:

that might have been rude for me to ask but it just didn't seem like it was true

00:39:21 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 3:

no it's not true

00:39:23 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 2:

how is it that you don't know how is it that you don't know one of his friends that's going through something like this.

00:39:31 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 3:

That's just not true.

00:39:33 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 2:

Why would somebody lie, though, about that? That's the thing, though. I mean, he didn't even hesitate when he came up with that. Hang on one second, okay?

00:39:44 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 4:

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:40:00 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 2:

War of the Roses. So do we believe that this is a friend with cancer? Or do we think that there's something going on here and that was just a BS answer that was given by Garrett? Sabrina this morning thinking that her boyfriend is cheating because some notes back and forth in the notes app that she's been checking out on his phone. Tony, comments, thoughts? What do you think?

00:40:41 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:40:42 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:40:44 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 5:

Comments, I lost five relatives. One of them just recently from stage four cancer. The guy said he overcame, his friend overcame cancer. Stage four, that's why he said roses. you don't overcome stage four cancer maybe one percent of the people well yeah listen i i actually

00:41:02 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 3:

have a friend that did yeah stage four cancer truly she did but but but with that said but with

00:41:07 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 2:

that said i listen i do agree with you that it is a hard thing to overcome stage four cancer is hard thing to overcome and i'm sorry about your family with that i i just don't know necessarily if you you lie or joke about something like that wait that's also not the question we were asking

00:41:28 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 3:

the question we were asking was what kind of cancer well and he didn't know like i think that he said the first thing he i don't know and that could be a misspeak too i'm just saying here's

00:41:40 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

here's what i'm gonna say with this one i you don't you know you don't kill off your grandma basically when you don't have your homework assignment and there are some people that do And this guy is a guy that I don't know if he's the type of guy that is not good with his verbal game or if he's just a complete liar and he's going for the cancer card. Because I got to tell you something, you start pulling the cancer card out.

00:42:05 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:42:06 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 2:

Man, you're a bad person if that is truly a lie.

00:42:08 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 3:

As an excuse, as a fake story.

00:42:10 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Bruno, what are your thoughts on that?

00:42:14 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 5:

Morning, everyone.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, buddy?

00:42:17 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 5:

Nothing much. So, my thing is, why didn't anyone ask her to maybe describe the content of the notes? Like, was there anything implicating that she read that kind of, like, made her feel like she had to suspect this guy?

00:42:33 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 2:

She did show us, and I'll be honest with you, I didn't think the notes seemed like it was that flirtatious.

00:42:38 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 3:

But it didn't even make sense.

00:42:39 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 2:

It didn't make any sense. Yeah.

00:42:42 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 3:

It was like emojis.

00:42:43 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, but it was, I think that the title of the note was the thing that got her the most. I agree with you. Yeah, me too. I agree with you that the note didn't seem like that much of a reason to want to do the War of the Roses, but it's definitely something that she's got to look more into. And how is it that as a guy or a girl or a relationship, you don't know the people that your spouse is friends with? Like you don't know, like him or her does not know.

00:43:13 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 3:

everybody like if it was a co-worker whatever i don't i'm i may not know every single name of the people that my husband works with but if it was somebody that he was friends enough with and worried about that was ill i would know exactly yeah but my other opinion is

00:43:28 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 5:

um did she even bother to like have a conversation with him at least asking questions about the you know the notes anything like that before deciding to uh you know bring it to to you guys yeah that's

00:43:41 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 2:

that's what she needed to do but obviously we wanted to do the war of the roses i i think it would probably have been better for her just to have conversation beforehand but i think she was worried that if she did that it would tip him off that she's on to his game uh david your thoughts is this guy cheating hey what's up guys good morning good morning what's going on uh not much

00:44:03 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 4:

uh man that's kind of crazy man he got caught cheating red-handed so you think it was a blatant

00:44:08 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 2:

he's cheating on this girl there's no excuse in even yeah yeah that's kind of low honestly what

00:44:15 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 4:

like what excuse he used but yeah no he yeah no man he got caught cheating right-handed he didn't know what to say and that's the next excuse he used yeah it's interesting you know the card that

00:44:27 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 2:

he sent to her doesn't really seem to be much there uh yeah but it's definitely the way that he spoke i do like when kevin's like what kind of cancer because it did put him right on the spot

00:44:40 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 1:

he backed up in his heels and was like is what obviously cancer is not something you joke about and you said it's not something you play around with yeah but it's also one of those things where when you pull it out like it's the it's the ace of spades it's the thing that i can't come back with the rebuttal to i have to say oh okay yeah i can't call you out on it but Let's go.

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 2:

of situation you had to because clearly it just didn't seem right yeah i mean it's if it is true

00:45:05 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 1:

i mean if there is a chance that it is true i mean he sent her some flowers he's you know it didn't sound like he was trying to have sex with her it sounded like he was just trying to be nice but if it's not true and that's his thing he's a piece of crap what's going on renee

00:45:20 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 3:

good morning guys good morning now if that's your friend and they have cancer how do you not know

00:45:28 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

the details or how does your partner not know the details i mean that's more important i know

00:45:34 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 3:

my husband's co-workers go and brush their teeth or take a school yeah right he shares everything after work about co-workers so absolutely and i think we all do too i would assume right we all

00:45:50 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 1:

share you know with our significant others stuff like that happen at work i'm shocked that she would not have known who this girl is uh or if it's not somebody from work if it's just somebody that he's friends with how do you not know this female friend what's up Carrie Ann

00:46:04 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 6:

hi um he just gave me such an egg like this dodo doesn't even know what a type of cancer means he literally said the severity of it and I feel like you have to be like an evil person to lie about cancer but i i truly think that was all just a lie yeah i'm telling you when you lie about stuff

00:46:27 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 1:

like that like cancer i think that if if it is a lie you're going down into that you know the caverns of like the worst people ever you know what i mean like that's uh that's a horrible thing

00:46:40 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 6:

and and like shannon said like i mean me and my husband talk about like our co-workers all the time and i don't i'm sure there's certain things i don't know but something like that would definitely be talked about or like you know it's like oh my god so and so like i just feel like

00:46:57 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 1:

that's not something you leave out by the way carrie ann our producer lydia has sent a text to that number that was given as the flower number to see if we can talk to ari because the truth comes from Ari and we have not had a response back but our hope is that uh we get

00:47:16 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Ari on we should send a text you know hope you're doing well with battling you know so yeah see if she replies with thank you or what are you talking about yeah congratulations on you know you're on

00:47:28 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 1:

winning your battle yeah see what she says that's actually not a bad idea we'll do that from another

00:47:33 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 4:

number. Pam, what's happening? Hi, good morning. So everyone is focusing on the cancer right now, but why are you using a notes app to communicate if they didn't have anything to hide? There's

00:47:45 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 2:

really no reason for that. Great, great comment. Sometimes it's right in your face. Can I be

00:47:51 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

honest with you though? Why would the note, I use notes. I use notes for my own personal notes.

00:47:57 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 2:

Why would somebody, like, I don't get it. Well, sometimes I've used it before if I'm collaborating with someone like i know a graphic designer and we're going back and forth and if we're updating our charts or if we're updating the plans for an event that we're having it's

00:48:09 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 7:

just easier to keep it in a note section i guess you can turn the notifications off like wes and i have a shared one of like restaurants we want to visit for example and i get an alert every time it gets updated but i know and we've talked about this before i know that the notes app has been a big thing for cheaters to use because i guess you could use it secretly and not really it's not like a text message or a dm it's not the first place that somebody would look if they think that

00:48:34 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 1:

something's up amanda you had this happen you dated a guy who lied lied about cancer

00:48:42 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 5:

yeah this was about 10 years ago i want to say i was 21 so like i'm naive right i met this guy he was a bouncer at a bar thought he was adorable um and he's like oh yeah i'm vegan i just recently found out i had cancer so i'm going the all natural route and doing all this homeopathic stuff it's brain cancer so you know they're not going to be able to do much for me gives me this whole story like i feel so bad i'm cooking meals for him and his kids mowing the lawn doing all this stuff and what i mean we just broke up i never heard from him and he's still alive to this day and called me from jail recently so i mean karma got him but he obviously didn't have cancer

00:49:27 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 1:

yeah isn't wow that's interesting so you found out that this guy is probably not the most honest of guys why would you say you have cancer although gosh i have no idea i mean like i don't know what

00:49:39 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 5:

kind of pickup line that is like he was a cute guy there was no reason to lie would you have done all

00:49:44 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 1:

that stuff for him though if he didn't say that he had cancer i'm a nice i'm a nice person i would

00:49:50 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 5:

of, you know, I'm a nice person. If we were dating, yes.

00:49:54 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

She mowed the lawn. That's the member level. She wearing fertilizer.

00:50:00 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think some people love the sympathy and attention. And it's sick. It's a mental illness.

00:50:07 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what is that illness called?

00:50:08 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it called Munchausen syndrome?

00:50:10 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Munchausen syndrome, yeah. Like they get off on it? Yeah. Victor says he could be innocent. What's up, Victor?

00:50:19 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, Mojo, Kevin, Shannon, everyone. What up? Good morning. I think the lady misunderstood. I didn't say he could be innocent. I just said both cases could be true, right? Because he never actually denied cheating on, you know, on his girlfriend with this friend of his. This could be a friend who forms some kind of emotional attachment to him while going through something, you know, as bad as a cancer, right? So maybe they haven't done anything physically, but, you know, there could very well be a friend of his who's going through cancer who he's having some kind of emotional attachment to, right?

00:50:51 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that is true. He never really did not admit to the fact that he's closest girl.

00:50:57 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 5:

He was very fast to say she has cancer, right? But he doesn't know what type of cancer. So maybe he hasn't known her for very long. Maybe this is someone who just overcame cancer, and now she's like, I have a second, you know, chance at life, and she's going crazy, and that's how they met, right? So he doesn't actually know all that details. All he knows is she's getting over cancer, right? And, yeah, he could be cheating on her who, you know, with someone who's just getting over cancer. I just, he never addressed the fact that he wasn't cheating with this girl.

00:51:26 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, no, it's interesting. Megan, what's going on? Hi, Megan.

00:51:31 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. How are you?

00:51:32 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Good. Morning. What's going on?

00:51:34 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm actually calling from Canada. Yeah, I hate her.

00:51:39 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 3:

What's up?

00:51:39 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so long story short, my aunt's with this guy for eight years, right? And he's got bone cancer, and it's spread all over his body. So my aunt's driving him to and from these appointments, but she never goes in. She always just drops him off. Who questions if somebody tells you that they have cancer? Right. Long story short, this guy ends up getting in a motorcycle accident and passing away. And during his autopsy, my aunt's asking a couple questions here and there. Turns out the guy never had cancer, and he was healthy as a horse.

00:52:09 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 3:

Where was she dropping him off then?

00:52:11 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what was he doing? She was dropping him right off at the hospital.

00:52:15 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

But what was he getting done if he didn't have cancer?

00:52:20 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 2:

It remains a mystery to this day that he was even still going into the hospital.

00:52:25 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

Amazing. Coming right out.

00:52:27 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 2:

Never questioned it. She never questioned it. She just dropped him off and went about her business and went back in an hour or however long he said and picked him up and never had a stitch of cancer in him.

00:52:39 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

He's watching TikToks for an hour in peace and quiet of the hospital lobby.

00:52:44 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you wonder, like, what is his whole point? And what is the point of him doing that just to get the sympathy? All right. War of the Roses.

00:52:51 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 6:

Shannon with the Dirty, and we'll grab a winner for a trip to Florida coming up here in a second. What's going on, Shannon?

00:54:25 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Kelly Clarkson has postponed her remaining August residency shows in Las Vegas. And in a message to her fans on social media, she said the reason is that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, is ill. He has been ill for quite some time. And at this point, she needs to stop everything that she's doing, and she just needs to focus on her children. And if you remember, earlier this summer, she also delayed the opening of her residency. That had nothing to do with her husband. She said she had a vocal issue at that point.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

Rescheduled dates now set for the summer of 2016.

00:55:02 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 4:

She had a bad divorce, huh, from that guy?

00:55:04 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

Very messy divorce. There was a lot of animosity there. She was not shy to say some pretty not nice things about him and their relationship in public. But now, and I don't have the details on, you know, what he is going through or battling. But it is severe enough that she's putting her career on hold to be with the kids.

00:55:22 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 4:

You and Lydia were talking about this earlier this morning. Did I hear you say that he's got a famous family? Who's his famous family?

00:55:27 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 3:

I think his mom is Reba McIntyre. Yeah.

00:55:29 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 4:

Really? Like Reba?

00:55:31 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:55:31 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 5:

I love that baby.

00:55:32 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm pretty sure that was my mother-in-law.

00:55:35 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 4:

You ever see those TV commercials that come on with Reba, and they are the dumbest commercials ever? They can't speak ill on Reba. It's like country dumb. But I kind of love her.

00:55:48 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 3:

I used to love her show. I used to watch it every day. So I loved her show, too. Really? I think she's going to be the next Betty White.

00:55:53 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 4:

Really?

00:55:54 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think she's going to be home, like, very loved.

00:55:55 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 4:

When country artists do comedy, the jokes are so corny. Like, they're so bad. Oh, I agree with it. Yeah, I like her hair.

00:56:04 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

After being convicted on those prostitution charges, Diddy attorney Mark Agnofilo said Diddy is already looking ahead. And he's telling his legal team he has plans to perform again at Madison Square Garden. Oh, geez.

00:56:19 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 1:

What is it that Sean Combs wants people to know? He wants people to know that I think that he has reflected on the blessings that he's been given, on the imperfections that I think he sees in himself. I think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children. He wants to take care of his mother.

00:56:44 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 2:

So he's talked to you about getting back into music if he's released?

00:56:48 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Honestly, he has not. one thing he said he said he's going to be back in Madison Square Garden

00:56:55 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 4:

that'd be interesting hey listen Chris Brown can sell out two shows at Ford Field Diddy could be selling out Madison Square Garden

00:57:03 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 5:

two totally different situations bro

00:57:04 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell you this that I could see Diddy at the Sphere would people go and see him would people go see Diddy perform it'd be tougher for Diddy man I don't think so no? I don't know I mean we live in a forgiving world right I mean there's people that a lot of people think that he was innocent because he didn't get charged with everything that he was being brought up on.

00:57:28 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 3:

I mean, people would go. I just don't

00:57:31 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 5:

know. The thing about Diddy, though, is he's never the lead artist in any of his music. So if you want to use the Chris Brown song, Chris Brown is the guy. Diddy was always like a featured person.

00:57:41 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? Shannon. That's your man, Diddy. I had a great time last night.

00:57:47 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 3:

That didn't age well. That did not

00:57:49 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 5:

What'd you guys do, Shannon? Nothing.

00:57:54 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Baby one? Hey, yo, what's up? Shannon. It's your man, Diddy. I just want to say I had a great time last night. Pink cocaine. I don't even know that.

00:58:04 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 3:

I thought Tony would just get rid of that. Let's be honest with you. So much drama surrounding Real Housewives star Denise Richards right now. She is in the middle of a messy, messy, messy, messy divorce. Yesterday, she was photographed with a black eye while running errands in Calabasas, California. I mean, her right eye is, it's definitely a black eye. She's also got like a cut in her chin. Now, sources are telling me, oh, it's just shadow. It's lighting. She had microneedling done. I just had microneedling done. You ain't look like that. I don't have a black eye, okay? So definitely something. How's she looking today, Kev? I kept comments every morning.

00:58:40 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 5:

She didn't have a black eye. She had a red eye.

00:58:42 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 4:

The last two days. It's getting better and better. The last two days, you've kind of like.

00:58:46 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 3:

I told you it's a few days of downtime.

00:58:48 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's what happens. I don't get that stuff. Like, Chelsea gets that done, too.

00:58:53 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 3:

You say you don't get it, but you rave about how she's the most beautiful she's ever been. It's amazing. So it absolutely works.

00:59:00 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I just don't know if I could go two days being, you know, looking like a.

00:59:06 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 5:

Got a sunburn? Like your arm.

00:59:07 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 4:

No, it's worse than a sunburn. It's like you laid your face on the stovetop.

00:59:13 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I'm really happy it came in today. Thank you.

00:59:18 - 00:59:19 | Speaker 5:

The stone top.

00:59:20 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Justin and Haley Bieber have given us, I would say, the biggest look yet at their son, Jack Blues, in his new music video for his song, Yukon. I don't think anybody knew that baby Jack was going to make his surprise music video debut. He's shown playing in the water. There's scenes of Justin kissing his foot and Haley snuggling up to him on a yacht. You don't actually see his face. It's kind of like obscured by water, but a lot of him in that music video if you want to check it out.

00:59:50 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 5:

So just like the neck down?

00:59:52 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you see like the back of him. You see, but we really haven't seen more than like a hand. You know, like the back of his head at this point.

01:00:00 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 4:

01:01:40 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 3:

01:01:42 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 2:

No. Honestly, it's Thursday. I'm just hoping. I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. I was, like, so excited that I was Friday. I'm, like, ah. You know what it is? It's summertime, and you don't even know what day of the week it is sometimes.

01:01:55 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 3:

Especially when you have a fun.

01:01:57 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. Mojo on the morning show on Channel 955 in Detroit, 104.5 SNX, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo, and, of course, on the iHeartRadio app. The month of August is an anniversary month for my wife and I, not a wedding anniversary. Do people ever celebrate their engagement anniversaries?

01:02:19 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I've never been engaged.

01:02:21 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, we got engaged, which is funny because I was remembering when we got engaged, and the engagement came after a bar night at the Pacific Beach Club in Tucson, Arizona. That was a place where the Pacific Beach Club was to Tucson what Clutch Cargo's was to Detroit.

01:02:40 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

Iconic.

01:02:41 - 01:03:50 | Speaker 2:

And for those who don't know what a Clutch Cargo's or a Pacific Beach Club is, it was basically like this dive club that, you know, people would go to and they would dance to songs and get drunk and they would have drink specials and stuff like that. It was nice. It was a little divey. Like bubble parties? They had all kinds of stuff at both places. Both places would do it right and they were great advertisers of the radio station so you'd go out there and do it. Well, Chelsea and I went to my bar night and then afterwards I proposed to her and I'll never forget this and this is actually where I come up with this topic. I would love to have, and some of them could be funny. Some of them could be serious. Some of them could be honestly scary. They proposed to me. They asked me to marry me, and I said blank, or they said blank. I want to know besides yes, what was said after they said, will you marry me, or did the proposal? Because when I proposed to Chelsea, and I said, will you marry me, she said, did you ask my dad? That was literally the thing that she asked. She goes, you better have asked my dad. Had you? I had to ask her dad, yeah.

01:03:50 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 3:

What did he say? Was it a clear yes?

01:03:52 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 2:

It was honestly, if I asked her dad months prior to that, it probably would have been a hell no. You know, it would have been, you're not the person that I actually see my daughter marry.

01:04:06 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hell no.

01:04:07 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 2:

But when I asked her, I think he realized that I was a good guy.

01:04:12 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 4:

I feel like you need a proposal. She needs a proposal redo.

01:04:15 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 2:

Well, our proposal was a bad idea.

01:04:16 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 4:

Like after she came to your bar gig?

01:04:20 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 2:

No, it was after the bar gig, yes. And we were laying on the floor from the bar gig, and we were just laying there. But, see, the problem was that she would put on her wedding ring a bunch. She knew exactly where the engagement ring was. So she was already here. So she was, like, wearing it to school and stuff.

01:04:35 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I do remember that, yeah. Did your guys ask your dad?

01:04:39 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 4:

I hate you.

01:04:41 - 01:04:41 | Unknown:

What?

01:04:41 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 4:

Did all the guys that you've been engaged to ask your dad? Yes. How am I supposed to ask that question? They did. Yeah.

01:04:50 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Did you ever, when they asked, see, now that's weird. Did you, because my mind is like, in Chelsea's case, where she's wearing a wedding ring already, in my mind, that's a, she's going to.

01:05:00 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 2:

to say yes there's not an inclination in her mind of maybe yeah the times where you were asked when you said yes was there ever a hesitation or you knew immediately she went to freaking paris do

01:05:09 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 3:

you think she's gonna say no i will say this so i so i was engaged to a musician i don't even know if you know this for a very brief a brief period of time so i've actually been engaged three times okay that's why i laugh when you said that um and i i know it's hard to keep track i tally it like we tally the throwback throwdown um he i the the way that he asked i remember when he asked me in the pit of my stomach my gut was telling me this is probably not a good idea and i pushed past it thinking a lot of things would change and they didn't and i i still think about like always listen to your gut so there are so i said yes because i was excited the ring was insane yeah um i wanted to be with him did that help the ring though being insane yeah but i wanted to be with him i truly did want to be with him and thought things would change but my niece got

01:06:07 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 2:

proposed to and i thought their proposal was beautiful it was over the river there in chicago like right next to where the uh trump tower is in chicago you know where they paint it green or yeah where they dye the river green and they were they were both like going to exercise or whatever and they were wearing like, I don't know, sweatpants or Lululemons or whatever the deal is. And he proposed to her on that bridge, which was like one of her favorite places ever. The craziest was she did not know the proposal was coming because she thought for sure it would be like how proposals are nowadays where everybody gets dressed up and does it nice. But it was so perfectly done because if you, and he had it prepared where a photographer was off in the distance. And there's always photographers just taking pictures on that bridge.

01:06:51 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:06:52 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 2:

And she was like freaking out. But her pictures, though, are funny because they're really authentic because she looks like she's all sweaty from the day and they're running. And so she felt like kind of excited, but also felt like, oh, I wish I would have been a little nicer dressed. Sabrina, are you there?

01:07:10 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:07:11 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, Sabrina. So here's the topic. And this is 844 Mojo Live. I asked to marry her and she said blank. What was said?

01:07:20 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 5:

I laughed and walked away and went to bed. What?

01:07:26 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 3:

Why? You didn't believe that he was being legitimate?

01:07:29 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 5:

No, it was a 24-hour night that I had pulled. I had had surgery. We got home that morning at like 7, and I walked out to the kitchen, and he was on one day proposing. And I just laughed at him. I went to bed, and I woke up the next, like, a couple hours later, eight hours later, and was like, why are you mad at me? What happened?

01:07:50 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:07:50 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 3:

What did he say? Oh, so you were under the influence of meds from your surgery still?

01:07:54 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 5:

Um, yes, but I also really just thought he was kidding. I was like, there's no way this is happening, especially right now.

01:08:01 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 2:

So did you, did he repose? I don't even know how to say it.

01:08:05 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 5:

No, no. About six months later, I said, all right, enough of this. We're going to buy a ring today.

01:08:14 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 3:

So he didn't have a ring the day of your surgery. He just got done and went.

01:08:18 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 5:

He had one. He had one, but I didn't feel like it was appropriate to wear that one because I don't think he was going to give it to me, so I went and picked one that I liked instead.

01:08:27 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 2:

Wow. There's a little complicated situation there. You guys are still together?

01:08:31 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, marrying two months. Okay. All right.

01:08:35 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 2:

And still together?

01:08:37 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Call us back in two months. That's good.

01:08:40 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, call us. That's a wild story. All right. I asked her to marry me, and she did blank. What's going on, Rosie?

01:08:52 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:08:53 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:08:55 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 4:

So I got an unproposal before I got proposed, if that is a thing.

01:09:00 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean, an unproposal?

01:09:02 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 4:

So he says it's been a surprise that he's had this whole big plan on our trip that we're going to, but then we get in a big fight, and then he says, oh, what a joke to think I was going to propose to you. So does that count as a proposal?

01:09:16 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 2:

No. Oh, my God.

01:09:18 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so either. Yeah, that's what I said.

01:09:21 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:09:21 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 4:

So I think you probably would have got toad no.

01:09:24 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Yeah, that's another sticky one. Anthony, hi. What's going on?

01:09:32 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. How are you? So my wife, what she ended up saying was, when I proposed to her, was, I wish I wore better underwear.

01:09:45 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 2:

That's great. Where did you propose to her, Anthony?

01:09:48 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

So I proposed to her in the middle of the night. I was impatient, and I had this whole thing planned out. It was storming. I thought I could slip the ring on her during the middle of the night, and I kept...

01:10:00 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 2:

watching it because i couldn't remember what finger to put it on and then uh she um when she finally woke up and she's and she said what is this i got on one knee and i proposed to her and her first response was i wish i wore better underwear what a good story that is such a great

01:10:17 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 8:

one yeah that's cute i like that one buddy uh what's up kathleen how you doing hey there so

01:10:23 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 7:

Mine's not as exciting, but I lived in Iowa where I'm from. And the special thing was my husband proposed to me on the patio where we had our first date. Then I walk in and sitting in a booth, he flew in his parents and my parents were sitting in a booth. And I just lost it out of excitement. It's been a great length that he went to, but yeah.

01:10:45 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 8:

That's funny. What is up with your voice, by the way? Are you okay?

01:10:47 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 7:

Like golem. Yeah, so that's actually my normal voice. long story short i'm a preemie and my lungs never fully developed okay i thought maybe i thought

01:10:56 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 8:

maybe you lost it uh uh like uh getting excited or screaming or something like that from oh yeah

01:11:01 - 01:11:08 | Speaker 7:

no that's just my my voice but yeah okay yeah thank you thank you for the call i appreciate

01:11:08 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 8:

it it's funny at first when you saw his parents were you excited or were you like oh crap and

01:11:14 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 7:

then you saw your parents and then that got you excited you know i was like genuine genuinely

01:11:19 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 8:

excited to see both of our parents that's cool because i was gonna say at first i thought you were joking when you said yeah i kind of got excited i'm going i don't know if i'd necessarily be excited if i'm just hanging out with his parents what's up mariah hi hi what's going on

01:11:37 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 5:

so i was invited on his yearly family vacation to east kawas and he like woke up it's like hey Let's go for a walk, like, hike. And I was like, okay, that's weird. And so we were walking on, like, this pier bridge. And then he, like, got down on one knee and didn't even say anything yet. And I was like, yes. Immediately before he got down. Yeah. That's great. He just ruined it. Oh, my God. Yeah, so.

01:12:07 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 8:

That is so cute. Yeah. That is awesome. And happily ever after. What's up, Dave? How you doing? Not bad. How are you guys? We're doing good, buddy. We're talking about the proposals that you had and what they said besides yes. What did they say?

01:12:23 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, first of all, first time along, Tom. Hey, Dave.

01:12:26 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 2:

Dave is on the phone.

01:12:30 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

And she actually was with me in the face and said, so this means I'll never be F anybody else for the rest of my life.

01:12:40 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

That was not the first thing she said. She's an animal. Wait, that is classic.

01:12:44 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 4:

That's exactly what she said.

01:12:46 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 8:

How awesome is that? I'll never be able to F anyone else. By the way, that is such a guy's response. That's what I'm saying. I want to know how to agree with her. Erin, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi, Erin.

01:13:00 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

01:13:01 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 8:

How are you? Good. How are you guys? Fantastic. So the proposal was done. What happened?

01:13:07 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 6:

So, so we, uh, I got engaged to on like Lake Erie on this, you know, a boat club and a little like kind of cement dock and it had, you know, little cracks in it. And so when he proposed, I literally looked at him and I go, don't drop the ring in the water. And he kind of looks at me and he goes, I know, I know. And of course you can hear it on like the video and I'm like, what? That's the worst thing that could happen. You need to see those videos.

01:13:32 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's funny. Could you imagine if you scared him enough to drop that ring? You hear those things happen all the time. Those poor people that have that happen. Like, there's so many people that get proposed to on Walloon or Torch Lakes. They're such beautiful lakes. And somebody was telling me that there's at least five or six rings inside of each of those lakes from people screwing up and dropping them and then bouncing off the boat. That is crazy. Awful.

01:13:58 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 1:

Ooh, big time Hall of Famer now, huh? You got into the Hall of Fame. Mojo, will you be able to get your big fat head through the door now? Congrats, buddy.

01:14:07 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 8:

Thank you, Deep Voice Guy. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Kev says that this is not a very professional thing to do. You went to go look for furniture, and what happened?

01:14:17 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, so I wanted to go find a recliner because when I told you guys yesterday, I went to my mom's house. She has a recliner. She was like, you know, try it out. It's got the massage. You lean back. It was so good that I said, okay, maybe I need to go get myself one. So I went to a furniture store, looking around a little bit. One of the sales guys comes and helps me out. We started to make conversation. he leads me to the recliners he's like okay put your arms in it's like a fancy recliner at the end of it this thing costs thirteen thousand dollars what it's a very expensive recliner and the reason why i'm saying that is because there's a lot of features so he's showing me how i can go back and then go forward put your arms inside of these little glove things that are massaging my arms so we're spending a little time

01:15:00 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 2:

together all of a sudden test driving yeah i'm test driving the recliner test reclining i get in there all of a sudden he pulls out a pink vape hits it blows a cloud into the air and i'm like bro what you doing right now like you're at work you in a whole suit and tie you in the middle of trying to sell me a recliner yeah and you're vaping yeah oh i'd be dying that was the most kind of like unprofessional thing you could possibly ever do in that moment i don't know

01:15:32 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

why people think you could just vape wherever why is it why do vapors uh feel so easy to do that but yet if it were a cigarette he wouldn't pull out a cigarette light a cigarette up and then just start smoking his cigarette you wouldn't do anything and calls him you wouldn't sip a beer

01:15:49 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

yeah you wouldn't hit a jay you wouldn't smoke crack like when did vape cross the line and say I can do it whenever.

01:15:56 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 5:

Dumb question. Is vaping even legal inside, indoors?

01:16:01 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so. It's the same as smoking, right? Is it?

01:16:04 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 5:

Because like, Kev, I feel like I see more and more people. I was standing in line at the gas station the other day because my scratch-off ticket won, so I had to go in and get my money. And the lady in front of me did the same thing, hit the vape. And I was like, are you supposed to be doing this?

01:16:16 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 6:

Zach, you bring yours places, right?

01:16:18 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Zach can't talk. Zach has to talk. Come in studio. So, Zach, are you a, you're a, a, I was going to call it, I'm a, I was trying to think of a, a V, something vapor. No, I'm saying vapor, but I was going to call them like a obnoxious vapor. Like the people that do this thing. By the way, Zach.

01:16:38 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 2:

You should have came in and vaped it out of the way.

01:16:41 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 4:

Zach, do you ever, it doesn't ever bother you to know that most people who look at people who vape look at you and think that you're sucking like a little D by doing it. That's not the question that we were going to ask.

01:16:52 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm confident in myself that I could care less. You're okay, Suckerman, D.

01:16:56 - 01:17:02 | Speaker 5:

Can you vape inside? Is that legal? I could care less. You don't know if it is or not? Can someone answer that question?

01:17:03 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 3:

But I don't do it in someone's face because that's rude.

01:17:06 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 4:

What does your vape look like? Because most vapes... It's like a little D. No, it doesn't. Let me see. Most vapes look like a bomb or something. They look like a detonator for a bomb.

01:17:15 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 2:

His was pink.

01:17:16 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 4:

That looks like a detonator for a bomb. If you're going to blow up a bomb...

01:17:20 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 3:

It does get pretty hot, like, if you leave it out in the sun. So it could blow up, I think.

01:17:24 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 4:

Can I say- Why are you doing that? That's so bad for you. We'll talk after. Yeah, we'll talk after. That is so bad. Like, literally. By the way, I have no at all sympathy for you when you have tough financial months that you spend your money on vapes.

01:17:38 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, it's one a month, and it's only $22. I don't buy it. No, it's not one a month. That lasts you a whole month. You're such a liar. For me, yes. I know people that go through, like, one a week. That's crazy. Which is nuts.

01:17:49 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 4:

People who are vapors, especially women, and I've seen women do this. When women vape, you are so unattractive when you're vaping. You might as well honestly be like, you know how like what you look like is, I guess, like a fat person eating a chicken leg or something like that.

01:18:07 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 2:

It's worse than having dirty feet as a lady.

01:18:11 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:18:11 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 2:

Whenever I see a woman with dirty ass feet, you're the bottom of the barrel.

01:18:16 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Amy? How you doing?

01:18:18 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys?

01:18:20 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on? We're talking about how vapors just feel like they can just pull it out anywhere.

01:18:25 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 6:

I swear they are like a crack fiend with it. They have the shakes if they don't. I've seen people with them like on a necklace around their neck so they know where it is. I'm like, you know you have a problem. Like they're wearing a blanket. You have to wear that thing around your neck. Exactly. What is going on right now?

01:18:41 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 4:

And again, don't you agree with me? and when you see somebody smoking a vape, it looks like they're smoking a little D or sucking a little D?

01:18:52 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 1:

You're fixated. It just makes them look like a... It's just juicy. It is juicy. Go right now.

01:18:58 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you. Pull your vape out, put it up to your lips and stand right in front of that camera. And Bianca, get a picture of that.

01:19:04 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 1:

And you're the sweetest, cutest guy, dad.

01:19:06 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. Come on. Give me that. No, no, put it right up to your lips. Go ahead. Put it right up there to your lips, Amy. We're going to do it right now. Now, Leonard, I almost forgot it. Go. No, no, but don't cover it all up. Make sure. That's how he does it. Okay. It's almost like a cough. Right there. Now, take that. No, put it right up there and hold it for a second. Don't you blow that in my face. Just hold it. Hold it. Come on.

01:19:27 - 01:19:27 | Unknown:

Go ahead.

01:19:27 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

01:19:28 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 5:

He's blowing it out the door.

01:19:30 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 4:

Come on. Go ahead. Try it. What am I supposed to say? Put it right up to your lips and just hold it there. This is crazy. Okay. Now, I want you to superimpose an actual male penis. I knew you were going to do that. put the eggplant yeah right there what's up sam how you doing

01:19:52 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 6:

good morning guys how are you good what's going on i was at a very nice restaurant a couple weeks ago and it's one of the ones where you can like see the chef behind the like half wall yeah and um i saw one of the line chefs hit it and then like blow it into the food

01:20:12 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 4:

yeah it was so gross i was like oh no that's in my food why do my salmon taste like cotton candy

01:20:24 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 5:

can you imagine if somebody did that with a cigarette and ashes got in your food i still

01:20:31 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 6:

think it's so funny when i think back of like going to applebee's in high school and they asked you if you want to sit in the smoking section or non-smoking section like it really

01:20:38 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 1:

mattered initial b what did you want to say um so i'm an rn and it's become like a real big thing

01:20:47 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 5:

that patients hit debate no come on in the hospital by the way she's being voices guys because a hip-hop probably here but wait patients guys because i just don't ask don't tell a question for you any any cancer patients no i don't work on cancer floors what kind of stuff

01:21:07 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

are we talking about that they're in for emphysema so um usually it's our like young trauma patients that have been in, like, an accident or whatever.

01:21:20 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 5:

It's just they're curing their anxiety. Does it take care of your anxiety, Zach? I think it gives you more anxiety.

01:21:26 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying they're laying on the hospital bed, hooked up, being treated, and then they hit a vape.

01:21:33 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 1:

So it's usually you catch them when they're trying to be sneaky, like when you're not in the room.

01:21:38 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 5:

You walk in and there's a cloud of smoke. Unreal.

01:21:42 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 1:

And I usually just say, hey, I didn't see anything.

01:21:46 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 5:

Wow, she's kind to do that. Hold on a second. Tony, what's up, Tony?

01:21:53 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Mojo?

01:21:54 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 5:

How you doing, buddy? Are you a vapor?

01:21:57 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 2:

No, no. My ex was a vapor.

01:21:59 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 5:

Really? You dated a girl that was a vapor, huh?

01:22:02 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like I don't date girls who smoke cigarettes or anything like that, and she was a vapor.

01:22:07 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 5:

And where's the weirdest place that she would pull her vape out and suck on that thing?

01:22:12 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 2:

In bed. In bed. Like, like why you guys. In her sleep. In her sleep.

01:22:20 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that is a true addiction.

01:22:21 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 3:

That's addiction, yeah.

01:22:22 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 2:

You would sleep like a vampire and then just wake up and just hit the bed. Oh, gosh.

01:22:27 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 5:

That's funny. Oh, my God, Tony.

01:22:30 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 2:

Middle of the night, you just, you just smelling, you just smelling smoke. Like, where's it coming from? I look over. It's her with her eyes closed.

01:22:36 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 8:

Jessie, what's happening?

01:22:45 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 7:

Hi, hold on. Let me get you off Bluetooth.

01:22:48 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:22:49 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 7:

I thought she was going to say, hang on, let me take a hit of my face. No.

01:22:56 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 5:

What's up? What's happening?

01:22:59 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 7:

I'm delivering for Amazon.

01:23:01 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:23:01 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 7:

But I do keep my vape on a lanyard. It's actually, my vape is a bear. It's a little blue bear. Yeah. And the cartridge screws into the top of it.

01:23:15 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 5:

And you have it on a lanyard, and you go up and ever vape on somebody's doorstep when you're dropping packages off?

01:23:23 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 7:

No, and I usually actually don't keep it around my neck if I'm delivering just because I don't want anybody reporting me. but for the most part, I do keep it on.

01:23:33 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:23:34 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 7:

Sometimes I'll even fall asleep with it.

01:23:36 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 3:

Is that a Penderman button or is it a breeze? Like what kind of vape is it?

01:23:43 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 7:

So the pen itself, the battery, is a Luca. It's called a Luca Bear.

01:23:48 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Is it weed or is it nicotine is what I'm saying?

01:23:51 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no, it's weed. It's weed.

01:23:52 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, you can't be doing that at work, man. You're going to lose your job. You've got to love it. Wow.

01:23:59 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 7:

They don't know. So I drive for Amazon Flex, and I'm in my own car.

01:24:04 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:24:04 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 7:

So they don't know that I do that. I mean, I don't have, like, any kind of machinery.

01:24:11 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 5:

Now they do, Jesse. All right. Well, thanks, Jesse. I appreciate you calling up and admitting that to us. Hold on. Tiffany's uncle, where does he vape?

01:24:22 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 6:

First time, long time. Hey! My uncle pulled out his vape in church. Like, I think we were there for a family. Oh, yeah. We were there for, like, a memorial service, I think. And I was like, dang, this incense is, like, strong. I look over and he's got the vape going.

01:24:42 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 5:

Frankincense and murder.

01:24:43 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 6:

In front of Jesus.

01:24:46 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 5:

Kay, where did your ex vape?

01:24:51 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 7:

While we were having sex. Oh, come on. That's how you know.

01:24:55 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 5:

Was he on top or were you on top?

01:24:58 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 7:

I was. And it was.

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 8:

Did he blow the smoke right in your face?

01:25:11 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 5:

It at least blew it to the side, but it was still one of those of like, yo, what are you doing right now?

01:25:15 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 8:

I got to be honest with you, and I am totally against vaping, but there is something kind of cool that sit there and have a cigarette or a smoke while you're having sex. Like, that's when you know you've made it. I've never done that. Could you imagine that in the middle of just having sex? Go, hold on. Ah, this is great. And just lay back? No. It's only, well. I don't know. There's something kind of hot.

01:25:36 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 7:

I can't say certain steps.

01:25:37 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 8:

Something kind of hot. But you got the secondhand smoke out of that deal, didn't you? Okay.

01:25:42 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 7:

I guess so.

01:25:44 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 8:

Wow. Thank you for the call. Yeah. Did you say you smoked a cigar after you have done that before? No, I haven't. But I'm saying there's something kind of cool to be able to do that. Hold on, Chelsea. I'm going to light up. You know what the problem is? I'll light up my cigars. I can never get cigars lit. It's hard. It's longer. You want to see a guy sucking a D? That's me.

01:26:03 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:26:05 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 5:

Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

01:28:22 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 3:

This is it.

01:28:22 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 8:

All right, are you ready?

01:28:24 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:28:26 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 8:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:28:28 - 01:28:31 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go.

01:28:31 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 6:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:28:33 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 8:

All right, coming up this hour on the show, Chris Brown sold out tickets. What is that whole thing that you do when you do Chris? What is that?

01:28:42 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 7:

It's like the beginning of a song way back. It is? Chris Brown.

01:28:45 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Because I was going to wonder. I'm like going, what is that?

01:28:47 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 4:

Now I'm so used to it, if he doesn't do it, I'm like, what happened?

01:28:52 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 7:

It's a few different ad-libs I got, but that's the one that stood. I want to say it's at the beginning of running.

01:28:58 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 8:

Really? And running it, isn't it? Doesn't it go, okay, okay, what are the things? Yeah. Do Santana, do, do, do, do, do, do. Something like that. Some of those words make sense. All right, Chris Brown sold out tickets coming up here in just a little bit. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Is it okay as a parent to have a favorite? We've talked about this before with our own kids. What about our kids' friends?

01:29:22 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

Don't you have favorite friends of the boys?

01:29:26 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah.

01:29:26 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 4:

Like, you rank them. You rate them in your head. You don't say that out loud, but you do.

01:29:31 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 8:

I'm obvious with it. Like, I'm so obvious with their friends that I actually really, really like. And the ones that I don't like, I'm more obvious with.

01:29:40 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, and then there are those friends where you're like, I don't want them to be friends with her.

01:29:45 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 8:

Why do you have this with your kids?

01:29:47 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I, so yes, I have it with, with all, with Lucy and Smith's friends. And I, I have it now with my stepson, Kieran's a new, he, he has a new friend.

01:30:00 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 3:

And this kid came over the other night, and I am obsessed with this guy. He is so polite, so kind, so complimentary of, like, the house and the dogs and everything right off the get-go. Very well-mannered, and Wes and I were getting dinner ready for everybody, and we were going to throw, like, some steaks and chicken and stuff out on the grill. This kid, again, first time at my house, first time meeting him, takes it upon himself to pick up the tray of food that I was getting ready to bring outside, brings it outside, sets it next to the grill. I go out like, you know, to see what's going on. He had taken it upon himself to clean. He was scraping my grill. And I was like, oh, I'm thinking, what are you doing? He looks at me and he's like, your grill just seemed dirty. So I'm just helping you out. Cleaned my whole grill, helps cook the food. And then when everything was said and done was putting stuff in like leftover and to-go containers and loading them up in my refrigerator. I was like, you can come over anytime you want. You are my new, I even said to my stepson, I'm like, that is my new favorite friend of yours. Welcome anytime. It's so funny.

01:31:11 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 1:

There used to be an old, old show called Leave it to Beaver. I don't know if you've ever heard that show. Wally and Miss Cleaver. Well, do you know what he's called? He is Eddie Haskell. Eddie Haskell Eddie Haskell was the friend of the brother, right? That he would come over and he was the kid that would kiss ass all the time.

01:31:29 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Wes even made a comment. He goes, can we trade Kieran for you?

01:31:33 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 2:

Either he is that amazing or he's hell.

01:31:37 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:31:38 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

And he just wants to appear to be amazing.

01:31:40 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

Don't you want to know if he's like this at his home with his parents or if he's just doing it to kiss ass? You know what I mean?

01:31:46 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 3:

For sure, and on the other end of the spectrum, Lucy has a friend or two that I constantly have to come up with excuses of why she can't come over to our house for a play date because she is just wild.

01:31:59 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 2:

She's too much. Oh, really? She's too much, yes. At first, I might have been a little pissed, though, like, what you mean my grill dirty? Oh, no, I don't think that thing's been clean since I got it. He's like, I ain't eating on this. I need to clean this up.

01:32:11 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. does your kid have a friend that is like your favorite friend and why is it that they are your favorite friend for my kids each of my kids i have the one that's like the favorite for joe it's grant uh joe's friend uh grant galasa is like my favorite and grant's my favorite because he's one of those ones where i could see myself hanging out and i have hung out with him without joe around like we've gone out and i think it's because he also is like this kid will come over to the house and you'll be like, this is funny, Grant took out of every one of our shower heads the Obama igniter thing that keeps the water from being too fierce. Remember President Obama put that in when he was president where they wanted the water to not come out too much because they said they were wasting water in the shower heads. So he would go in there and pop that little thing out so that the water would have water pressure. and I had him do every one of them in our house. So all the bathrooms now I have.

01:33:17 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 2:

It's like a turbo jet. Oh, yeah. You're in a jacuzzi when you're in there.

01:33:20 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm going crazy. And then Luke's friend, yesterday we were hanging out at the Tigers game. Luke's friend, Nolan, is my favorite. And I think it's because he's just a good kid. And I always say to Luke all the time, I go, I really like this kid. He's one of those kids that comes up to you and will shake your hand and look you in the eye. And I guarantee you, he's, like, probably drunk or high or something. Did I meet Nolan at the Lions game?

01:33:43 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 2:

Did I meet Nolan? Yeah. He is a good guy.

01:33:46 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 1:

He's a great kid. He's very appreciative, like, when he comes to the house and does something. Or, like, yesterday with the game, he was appreciative to go to the game.

01:33:54 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 2:

When you guys were younger, were you the good friend?

01:33:58 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 1:

I was. I was the kiss-ass.

01:33:59 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm a kiss-ass in every situation. Let's be real.

01:34:04 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 2:

So maybe. Because I feel like all my friends, parents, if you were to ask them and point out like of the friend group who was their favorite, I feel like I always made it a point to be that. But I was also like one of the wildest ones. I feel like it goes hand to hand.

01:34:15 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it was just immediate, like always clean up after myself or offer to help in any way I could.

01:34:22 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 1:

But Mrs. Yeager, Brad, my friend Brad's mom, Mrs. Yeager used to call me Jagoff all the time. So like I'd come over to the house and I didn't think she liked me for the longest time. And so one time I said to Brad, I go, Brad, I don't think your mom likes me. She calls me Jagoff, and she goes, no, she calls everybody Jagoff. Like, that was her thing. She would go, you're my favorite, Jagoff. But Brad's mom was good. And then Tom Barrett's mom, I remember going to the house, and Tom wasn't there. I stayed all day, and she made me lunch.

01:34:51 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding?

01:34:52 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it was great. She was like, oh, you can stay around. They had a pool. I went swimming by my floor. Literally, I'm hanging in the bed. One of her boys.

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 2:

Tom comes over, Tom came home from work, and Tom's like, what are you doing? What's up, Amy?

01:35:07 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you guys doing? Good morning.

01:35:09 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 2:

Good, what's going on?

01:35:11 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 5:

So, my daughter is in middle school, so we all know how, like, teenage girls can be. They have those friends that you absolutely love, and then they have those friends that you don't. And my daughter has this friend. So, my daughter's weird. She's quirky. She's loud. She's obnoxious. but she's very respectful but she has this one friend and they've been friends it's like second grade they met and they got in trouble in second grade for smacking each other in the butt and i had to get a phone call i had to get i got a phone call from the teacher and i'm like uh what's going on and i'm like oh here we go you know because she got in trouble for praying over kids in like preschool so i'm like okay you know something happened no she and this little girl were smacking each other and this little girl ended up being like my favorite my hands down favorite friend of hers she's weird she's quirky she walks on her hands she's like this she's like this weird little girl and she is such the most respectful kind sensitive like she balances out my daughter so well but she is like hands down my favorite yeah that's what i'm telling you when you when

01:36:21 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 2:

you meet these kids and the kids that are your favorites are the ones that you could see yourself hanging out with if you were your daughter right i liked how she went from praying to kids to

01:36:29 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 6:

smacking eyes what's up annie good morning so my daughter has a best friend named presley and she's the child that will just she pretty much just lives at our house especially for the summer but when my daughter her gets sick of each other i'll just find her watching tv in the living room by herself she'll go out and skim the pool like oh my god she skims your pool like she helps you clean your pool and the house like she'll just do dishes like she's completely a part of the family that's so awesome but yeah so children in general like everybody will always say annie your kids are so good i'm like are you talking about my kids are you well that's the thing our kids go

01:37:11 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 2:

over to other people's homes and they they that's nice when they're better over at other people's That's how we was trained. I'm always like, you better not go out there and act that embarrass me. Hi, Siobhan. Hi. We're talking about how Shannon's stepson has a friend that Shannon says is like the greatest kid ever. And can you have a favorite friend of your kids?

01:37:36 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 7:

So my daughter is probably like the only one who I like. I like her friends. I don't like my son's friends.

01:37:43 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 8:

That's great.

01:37:44 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 7:

Why not? I like my daughter, they're just teenagers, and teenagers are teenagers, and this generation of teenagers, I can't get with, but my daughter, she has a friend, Harmony, she just met over the summer, and that's the only sweet young lady I've met out of everybody, she's sweet, she always says hi, they call me whenever times of the day, just to say hi, and they just hang, like, they're just very respectful, she's got a sister named London, so they're the Powerpuff Girls.

01:38:13 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's cute. that's cute it's so funny that you say that about these kids because hold on uh ashley are you there ashley i am ashley good morning guys say hi to siobhan ashley hi hey so how are you ashley can relate i'm good how are you good ashley tell tell uh siobhan about your son's friends

01:38:35 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

oh my son is 11 and i don't know what it is but he picks like i think he scans like the classroom of the room to find the naughtiest kids like i my daughter she's 13 all her friends they'll come over they're kind respectful they're so nice and sweet love them my son every time he picks a friend to come over i'm like sure he had one friend he was like i want to play catch so or he wants to hit the baseball so i'm pitching the ball to him he is intentionally trying to take out like my swimming pool he tried taking my daughter out on the swing set it's terrible do you do what i do

01:39:21 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 1:

with the younger ones that don't have phones like smith will ask for a play date with certain kids and he's like did they did the mom text back yet i never texted the mom in the first place

01:39:29 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 3:

That child is not coming to my house. I do that. I have done that before.

01:39:34 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 2:

That is so funny.

01:39:35 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 3:

I have done that to the mom. He's like, how come so-and-so can't come on? I'm like, I don't know. Their mom's not really funny. They must be really busy.

01:39:43 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 7:

My daughter keeps trying to make me be friends with all of her friends' moms. Like, we're just all the same.

01:39:49 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. That is so funny.

01:39:51 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 4:

Not the same. See, I'm okay with that with my daughter's friends. But my son's... I don't think they're having the wrong kids. We're making friends right now.

01:39:58 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 2:

I like it. We got friends here. love you guys. Thank you guys for going on with us, Siobhan and Ashley. Hold on a second. This is actually very funny. Keith, are you there, Keith? Oh, yeah. Keith has a theory to Shannon's stepson's friend. What is that, Keith?

01:40:21 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 3:

You're the MILF. Point blank, period. It's the easiest way to figure this out. So you're saying... to figure it out. Say, hey, I need that spot. You see it up there on the chimney? Yeah. I need that brick to be pushed in a little bit. If that kid jumps up, there's your name.

01:40:40 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 2:

I got one better. Have him switch the M's in the house. Have him take those off. Do you think... Keith, do you think that this kid's cleaning the grill because he wants to or do you think he's cleaning the grill because Shannon's standing next to the damn thing?

01:40:56 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, yeah, second. Yeah, right, exactly.

01:40:59 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 4:

Very nice, Keith. Thank you.

01:41:00 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Speaking of that, initial G. Are you there, G?

01:41:05 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what's going on, Mojo and Friends?

01:41:07 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

Your voice is good.

01:41:09 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 4:

What's up, G?

01:41:09 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo and Friends on Mix 92.4. What's going on?

01:41:14 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I just got to say, you got to watch out, Shannon, because like what Keith has said, I was that nice friend. And I did everything for my buddy's mom. And we ended up having a little relationship.

01:41:33 - 01:41:35 | Speaker 2:

Whoa. So you was cleaning more than girls.

01:41:35 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

It was a few years, too.

01:41:37 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. So, G, you would clean and cook and do everything, including you would help her enjoy herself?

01:41:47 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. If she asked it, I did it.

01:41:50 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 2:

Did your friend ever know you were having sex with his mom?

01:41:56 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 4:

I think he had an idea. But he never said nothing to me about it.

01:42:03 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Real weird, real quick. Dear Shannon, I love you. I can't believe how much I'm not sick of you. Love, Deep Voice Guy. On Mojo in the Morning. There you go. Hold on, Courtney, what did you want to say?

01:42:19 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 1:

i just can't believe you lied on the radio mojo your favorite of luke's friends is actually ass

01:42:27 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 2:

juice of course actually actually i will tell you this ass juice is one of the greatest kids in the world is he living with ass juice this year yeah i believe they are so luke is not in the fraternity house this year but he might as well be he's in a house with one of he's one of 22 people in the house it's the craziest so they rented an old sorority house and they are living in this house how many bathrooms in there uh i think there's a bunch i think he luke actually may have or may not i don't know the story but chelsea knows all the details i think luke might have his own room or own bathroom so but i know that's crazy um all right it's mojo in the morning so yesterday we went to the tigers game and i actually took uh luke and luke had a bunch of his friends He had Nolan with him. And then Luke has been hanging with this very sweet girl. He does not call her a girlfriend, but they hang out all the time with each other. So Chelsea and I can't figure it out, but we love this girl. Oh, my God. She's so funny. It's one of those people where you hang out with this girl, and you're like, oh, my God, I hope Luke dates her because she's such a sweetheart. um but long story short um I said to Luke because we hang with her uh so often like she'll come over to the house so often so I said to Luke I go Luke what does her like mom and dad do for a living like just kind of you know get an idea of who they are and what they're all about yeah and Luke goes I asked her and she said she doesn't know and I thought to myself how do you not know what your parent does for a living like that would be like the first thing that i would think that you would know if you live under the roof with this person that is you know your parent and um he goes yeah i asked her what her dad does and she said she doesn't know and i'm thinking to myself either her dad does something that is governmental and he cannot talk about it or criminal and he cannot talk about it yeah you know what i mean like how do you not like you know hey kids this is my job job take your daughter to work day or something like that even then you'd think that he would

01:44:38 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

give her some sort of yeah fake right yeah thing that he did just so there was an answer right but

01:44:44 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 2:

then am i crazy in thinking this or do you guys think that there are people out there that had no idea or did not know what their parent did for a living and it couldn't be a situation where maybe she was embarrassed and didn't want to say it so she just said i don't know and luke says that The parents are.

01:45:00 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 1:

great like luke actually says he goes he goes oh my god dad he goes you're gonna you would love the you know these two they're really really nice people they love luke i think you know uh he said that uh they enjoy they enjoy when he's over there can i tell you what i like the most about uh this girl and now one of my favorite things is i like people who can be themselves like i don't like the whole you know they act one way around us and they act one way around luke and they came home from having dinner they went to go get sushi or something like that and they came home from having dinner and they walked in the house and chelsea and i were just kind of like laying there and just watching tv and stuff and uh chelsea's like um you know hey uh hey riley how are you doing what's going on and she's like oh my stomach is killing me and chelsea's like oh my god are you okay like chelsea's like thinking to herself like maybe something's wrong like she you know got food poisoning or something from the sushi and she goes no nothing that a good poop won't take care of And I was like, oh, my God. She fits right in. Oh, we both were like, we just fell in love with her right at that moment. But what's going on, Christina? How you doing?

01:46:06 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

01:46:07 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 1:

Good. Is it weird that this girl that Luke has been hanging out with doesn't know what her dad does for her work?

01:46:15 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 3:

I would say not really. It depends because my dad is retired now, but I'm still kind of confused on what he did. And I never knew, I never knew really what he did. Like, and he did, he did, he worked for the federal government. It wasn't a secret, but it was just very confusing.

01:46:31 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's, it's wild. It's, can I be honest? I don't know what Kev's dad does for a living or mom does for a living. Like Kev's worked with the show for almost two years. And I have no, I have no clue what they do. Do you know what they do for a living? I'll never tell. Yeah, no, it's, but it is interesting though. Shannon's dad I know had a couple different occupations and it's funny because I know that I've hung out with your dad before knew what he did for a living, knew what your mom did for a living and stuff like that but Kev's I have no clue so Kev is we're going to keep on dating

01:47:08 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 6:

now it's like a mystery what do they do

01:47:13 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 1:

what's going on Rick, how you doing

01:47:15 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 2:

good morning Mojo, Shannon and Kev how y'all doing

01:47:18 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 1:

what up man, fantastic buddy, what's happening

01:47:20 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 2:

not too much pertaining to the girlfriend or the friend maybe she's embarrassed about what her parents do for a living that's what i just have said yeah that could be it i don't think it's that

01:47:33 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 1:

i don't think i don't think it's that because of uh uh lucas said nothing but like really positive stuff about them and about uh i mean they live in a nice neighborhood nice house i mean i think that uh that that's okay so but i but i just think maybe you're just not inquisitive like maybe not everybody's that inquisitive about uh about what their friends family members do like i i know that there were some kids that i went to school with that i grew up with and these kids you'd go over to their house and they would never talk to any like they wouldn't ask questions of stuff like i would always be you're talking about shannon with um uh

01:48:14 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 6:

Kieran's friend.

01:48:14 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 1:

Kieran's friend.

01:48:15 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:48:16 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 1:

And I wouldn't, I would look at them. They wouldn't even talk to their parents. Like at some of my guy friends and stuff, we'd go over to their house. I'm like, hey, how you doing? And the parents were like, oh my God, the kid talked. Because their son, who was my friend, never talked to him. Straight to his room. And I'm like, what is you, what are you doing? Misfit Nicole. What's happening, Nicole? What's up, Nicole?

01:48:34 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Nicole. Hey, what up, yo? Good morning.

01:48:37 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Nicole, your kids' friends know that you are the principal.

01:48:43 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 4:

They do know I'm the principal. But when I was listening to you talk, you said nice neighborhood, nice car, new girlfriend, father is in waste management.

01:48:56 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 2:

The Sopranos guy?

01:48:59 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 4:

Really? The metal Soprano. You think so?

01:49:04 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:49:05 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

I told that to Lydia, and Lydia totally didn't get my jokes. She's like, who? I was like, oh, my God, Lydia. But I forgot, the Sopranos is an older show.

01:49:15 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea what that is.

01:49:16 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 1:

Lydia needs to get schooled in the Sopranos. Lydia, that would be a show to binge watch. That is such a good show. Hey, Luba, what's up?

01:49:24 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. You know, there's, like, those weird job titles, like, logistics or project manager. And, like, they try to explain, but then you just feel dumb for asking more questions.

01:49:34 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I mean, this, honestly, is one of those things where I don't think it's that odd. I don't know what Wes does for a living. I still can't figure out what Wes does.

01:49:41 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 5:

He is a secret agent.

01:49:43 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 1:

I don't care what you say, Sandy.

01:49:45 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 6:

At his previous company, I didn't really know what he did. I know what he does at his company now, I think. At least a little more.

01:49:51 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 2:

There's a button in your garage, and when you find it, a gun rack is going to pop out with seven passports.

01:49:56 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, and here's the thing. Luba's right. Logistics.

01:50:00 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 2:

When people say logistics, I'm like, Lo, what is logistics? Mikayla, what's up? Hi. Hi, Mikayla. Mikayla. Mikayla, you're on a Bluetooth, and you are talking, and you cannot hear us because you muted it. I've learned this. There you are. Are you there?

01:50:22 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I knew Bluetooth was going to mess it up, so I was trying to fix it.

01:50:25 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

No, that's okay. What's going on?

01:50:26 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So my dad is a cop. And when I was in high school, he was an undercover cop. And there were just like certain people that I could tell and who I couldn't tell what he did.

01:50:41 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 4:

Wow. And how did you what did you base that on?

01:50:44 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 3:

sometimes my dad would mention things of like maybe certain families oh that would be like

01:50:57 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 1:

a no-go kind of thing bro if i'm undercover there's nobody i'm telling that i'm a cop

01:51:03 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 2:

that but i mean it would never but i so dad would dad do background checks on the friends

01:51:09 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 3:

in the neighborhood and stuff like that a few of them a few of them and boyfriends yeah i have a

01:51:18 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 2:

buddy of mine who's a cop and i remember saying to him joking around one time i said to him i go hey you know uh you must know a lot about a lot of the people like that you know are in your neighborhood your kids and all that stuff and he goes more than you need to know i mean it is interesting you know what i mean like you kind of go back and forth and you figure that stuff all out

01:51:39 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 1:

What, Kev, when am I going to figure out what the hell your parents did? I'm going to tell you on February 29th. Wow, you're a jerk. I'm like going, what's happening on February 29th? It's only 28 days. All right, you guys, stop it.

01:51:52 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 4:

The first red flag of a lying, cheating, dirtbag husband. He gets mad and calls you crazy when you confront him about the girl he's been texting. Another War of the Roses is after nine on Mojo in the Morning.

01:52:27 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:52:30 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 2:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. What's happening, Shannon?

01:52:33 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 4:

Brad Pitt and his family are mourning the loss of his mom, Jane Etta Pitt, who passed away at age 84 this week. She was a retired school counselor, a loving grandma. Her granddaughter said she was just a very creative, caring woman who made every grandchild feel special. The Pitt family honoring her charitable spirit by founding a pediatric cancer center in her name. Very private and quiet woman, but she did accompany Brad on a few different red carpet moments. So you did see her in public from time to time. But Jen Powell going to make history as the very first woman to officiate a regular season Major League Baseball game during the upcoming Marlins versus Brave series in Atlanta this coming weekend. She's going to work the bases in a Saturday doubleheader and then serve as the home plate umpire on Sunday, I believe. 48 years old, she hails from New Jersey. She began umpiring professionally in 2016 in the Gulf Coast League, climbed to AAA, and then officiated MLB Spring Training Games in 2024, and then this year as well. Pretty cool. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred calling her a role model for women and girls.

01:53:46 - 01:54:37 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting they took a long time to get this because the NFL was first, then basketball was second, and now baseball is following suit. Interesting. If you ever follow on social media, John Boy, he's a he's a guy that does baseball analysis. And it's like he's got a great Instagram following, Facebook following some funny stuff. He always does the voice of the umpires arguing with the managers and players and stuff like that. I wonder if there ever is an argument between her, which I've seen in minor leagues. She's had face to faces with, you know, these men who are managers. I wonder if John Boy will do it normal like he does it now where he pretends like he's the voice of each one or if he'll bring in a female. No, he's got to do it. He's got to do them both.

01:54:37 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 1:

And it'll look weird if you just completely go rogue.

01:54:40 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

He's hysterical, though, if you've never followed him. You sent me some videos, and he is pretty funny. He's very funny. He actually, did you know what's funny? He got bought, that got bought by MLB. Wow. Major League Baseball bought, his site is kind of like Barstool, and his site got bought by Major League Baseball because he's done so much to promote the game through that side. Wow.

01:54:59 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

And lastly.

01:55:00 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 1:

An ex-girlfriend of Florida Republican Representative Corey Mills is accusing him of threatening to release sexually explicit images and videos of her after their relationship ended. We call this revenge porn. Lindsay Langston is her name. She's a Florida Republican Party committee member. She's also a pageant queen. Filed a police report last month in Florida. And she submitted a whole bunch of screenshots of messages that Lindsay said she exchanged with Corey. And they show an account under Corey Mills name saying he was going to share with an unidentified man a bunch of videos that he had of Lindsay. Similar comments are made in text conversations. There were some threats made in a statement shared with CNN, the congressman denying any wrongdoing. I know she's beautiful, right?

01:55:50 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 3:

What is Miss United States? I've never heard of that either.

01:55:54 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

But he came out yesterday to say these claims are false and misrepresent the nature of my interactions. I have always conducted myself with integrity, both personally, excuse me, and in service to Florida's 7th District. But I think we're going to hear a little bit more about this case just because of the nature of it. For everything you missed today, you can catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

That laugh.

01:56:26 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 2:

What is that?

01:56:28 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 3:

It drives me crazy. I love it. Oh, you do? It drives me crazy. All right. We got a winner. His name is Jeff, and he's going to see Chris Brown. Congratulations. Jeff. Yes, sir. How you doing? Jeff is from Indiana, listening to us on the iHeartRadio app, and you're going to see Chris Brown. You're driving to Detroit to see Chris Brown at Ford Field in downtown Detroit.

01:56:54 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I appreciate it.

01:56:59 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 4:

Are your ears blinkered already?

01:57:00 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing? What is that? What's going on with your phone and with that noises and what is happening, Jeff? Are you a truck driver or something or what are you? Yes, unfortunately, that's what I do. Okay. All right. Wait a second. Can you go? You're from Indiana and you have an accent? People in Indiana have accents like that? Do they really? Oh, yeah. Well, I guess you could call me a hooser hillbilly. You're a hooser hillbilly. You're Larry Bird. This is Larry Bird on the phone with us right now. Do you look like Larry Bird? No way. No, okay. Better looking. Thank God. Congratulations to you, buddy. Hold on one second. Are you a big fan of Chris Brown?

01:57:43 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes, sir.

01:57:44 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 3:

What's your favorite Chris Brown song to test you out?

01:57:46 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 4:

I'm a good one. radio every day. I drive up

01:57:50 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

for five days a week. What's your favorite Chris Brown song? Hold on. You cannot swear. Are you trying to sell these tickets on StubHub?

01:58:03 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hell no. Are you?

01:58:06 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

What's your favorite Chris Brown song? What's your favorite Chris Brown song?

01:58:12 - 01:58:13 | Unknown:

Hang on.

01:58:13 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 3:

Hang on. He's trying to Google it. Lydia, this guy is buying I mean, how did this guy get through?

01:58:19 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 1:

He told me that he wanted to take his wife.

01:58:22 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 3:

He's going to take his wife to go see Chris Brown. Okay, okay, okay. But he doesn't know Chris Brown.

01:58:27 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

Maybe they just want to go have a good time.

01:58:28 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he hung up. Aw. He did? Yeah, I think he intimidated him.

01:58:33 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 4:

Maybe his phone cut out.

01:58:34 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, no. Well, we've got to give him a chance to call back because maybe it could be a mistake or something. If he doesn't call back, then why don't we do this? We'll reopen those tickets back up and give listeners. Are you going, by the way? No, no, I'm not. That would be a great show.

01:58:48 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 2:

The prices were insane. I saw him last week.

01:58:50 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Even with two shows.

01:58:52 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:58:53 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 3:

Why do we not have Chris Brown headlining a jingle ball? Like, oh, do you know how many tickets?

01:58:57 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 4:

Can't we? Everybody want to drag him because of the Rihanna situation. Nobody wants to give Chris his flowers. And then you see what happened when he sold out two back-to-back shows at Ford Field.

01:59:06 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, that might be the most shocking thing of the summer was that Chris Brown sold out two shows at Ford Field. You'd only want that shot. I can't. I agree. I'm totally shocked. All right. We'll be right back.

01:59:16 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 2:

02:00:15 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 2:

Sabrina, you saw something in his phone that makes you think that he's cheating. What was it? Was it like a text message?

02:00:23 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 4:

No, it was something in the Notes app.

02:00:26 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

So there was notes about his cheating?

02:00:30 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 4:

no like so i saw a notification on his phone that someone had edited a shared note and like i have his passwords to everything um on his phone um what did it say i just it was just like a like a bunch of stuff that didn't really make sense like random notes, and then emojis that seem sexual.

02:01:02 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 3:

Who was it shared with? Yeah, right. Because I have it too, but I know I can see who's updating it. What was the name on there? Did you see?

02:01:11 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 4:

It was shared with someone named Ari. I don't know who Ari is. I've never met Ari. And the name of the note was Shush.

02:01:22 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 2:

What does your boyfriend do? What kind of work does he do?

02:01:26 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 4:

uh he has like a computer job he works in software do you know if he's got a co-worker

02:01:34 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 2:

because a lot of times when these when people are cheating they usually are cheating with co-workers do you know if he's got somebody named ari that works with him i mean he's never told me

02:01:45 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 4:

about like i thought his team was all guys he's never told me about an are you're like anyone who's a girl who he works closely with.

02:01:55 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so what would he be doing? He'd be just sending messages through the Notes app to them instead of using text message.

02:02:01 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 3:

But what an idiot, because you still get an alert every time.

02:02:05 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 2:

Does he know that you have his passwords?

02:02:10 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

No, he logged in one time and I just saw it.

02:02:14 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 2:

So do you check his stuff a lot?

02:02:16 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 4:

not a lot but like sometimes especially if i feel like something's weird have you been checking a

02:02:24 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 2:

lot since you saw this notes app yeah okay we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses mute your phone so that he doesn't get suspicious that you're on and we're hoping that the flowers go to sabrina

02:02:40 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

okay hello hi is this garrett

02:02:53 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 3:

yeah speaking hi garrett my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer some really easy survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses yeah Okay, Garrett, it's just two questions. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months?

02:03:15 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:03:16 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 3:

Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:03:21 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

Maybe.

02:03:23 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's actually all I needed from you. I told you it was fast. And I'm now authorized to provide you with that one dozen long-stemmed red roses from rosesbloom.com. So I just want you to think about who you want to send some flowers to. They will go out today, and then go ahead and give me a first name and a last name of that person.

02:03:43 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 4:

Ari?

02:03:48 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and what is her telephone number?

02:03:54 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 4:

Seven. Five.

02:04:02 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what's her relationship to you?

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Let's film out.

02:04:08 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Well, so I need to know on my end because I'm starting a profile for you, so I just have to check a box for that.

02:04:15 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 4:

A friend.

02:04:16 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 3:

A friend? Okay. And red roses are okay, or did you want me to change the arrangement?

02:04:21 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, fine.

02:04:22 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 3:

02:04:45 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sure.

02:04:46 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I'm going to count you down and you just start talking. Three, two, one.

02:04:54 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 1:

Hey, it's Garrett. Hope you're doing great.

02:05:01 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:05:01 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 3:

Do you like that or do you want to redo it?

02:05:04 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's leave it.

02:05:05 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Garrett, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:05:15 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 1:

Sure. Okay. Garrett, I just want to jump on real quick and just let you know that while we were talking to you and you were sending the flowers to Ari, that your girlfriend, Sabrina, was listening in and just heard every word that you just said.

02:05:37 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, what's going on? Why?

02:05:43 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, Sabrina contacted us here at the Mojo in the Morning show and wanted to know where you were going to send a dozen free roses and was a little bit worried that you were cheating on her and she just heard you send flowers to the woman that she was worried you were cheating with?

02:06:03 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 2:

It's my friend who overcame cancer.

02:06:08 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 1:

So your friend is sick?

02:06:13 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my friend had cancer.

02:06:17 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 3:

Does Sabrina know who this friend is? Or know of her? No, I've never heard of an Ari. Never heard of anyone with cancer. Um, I think he's lying.

02:06:30 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 2:

What kind of cancer your friend got? Uh, stage four.

02:06:40 - 02:06:41 | Unknown:

What kind?

02:06:42 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 3:

That's not a kind of cancer.

02:06:46 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Stage four is a level of cancer.

02:06:50 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 3:

What kind of cancer? Like cancer where?

02:06:54 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 2:

i don't know the details on cancer i'm not a doctor i just know they have cancer that's all i know about it i don't i'm not accessible with their medical records i'm not trying

02:07:07 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 3:

details on that you stop lying i saw the notes app on your phone i don't think this is a friend and i don't think she has cancer like why are you going through my notes i

02:07:21 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

I don't need to take this.

02:07:27 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious?

02:07:30 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 1:

He hung up the phone.

02:07:33 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, like, are you kidding me? Like, cancer? That's insane. He does not have a friend with cancer.

02:07:42 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 1:

That might have been rude for me to ask, but it just didn't seem like it was true.

02:07:45 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not true.

02:07:47 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 1:

How is it that you don't know? How is it that you don't know one of his friends that's going through something like this? Yeah.

02:07:55 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 3:

That's just not true.

02:07:56 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 1:

Why would somebody lie, though, about that? That's the thing, though. I mean, he didn't even hesitate when he came up with that. Hang on one second, okay?

02:08:07 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 2:

02:10:00 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Roses. Mojo. Mojo in the morning. War of the Roses. So, do we believe that this is a friend with cancer? Or do we think that there's something going on here and that was just a BS answer that was given by Garrett? Sabrina this morning thinking that her boyfriend is cheating because some notes back and forth in the Notes app that she's been checking out on his phone. Tony, comments, thoughts? What do you think?

02:10:43 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

02:10:44 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:10:46 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 7:

Comments, I lost five relatives. One of them just recently from stage four cancer. The guy said he overcame, his friend overcame cancer. Stage four, that's why he said roses. you don't overcome stage four cancer maybe one percent of the people well yeah listen i i actually

02:11:04 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 1:

have a friend that did yeah stage four cancer truly she did but but uh but with that said but

02:11:09 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 3:

with that said i listen i do agree with you that it is a hard thing to overcome stage four cancer is hard thing to overcome and i'm sorry about your family with that i i just don't know necessarily if you you lie or joke about something like that wait that's also not the question we were asking

02:11:30 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 1:

the question we were asking was what kind of cancer well and he didn't know like i think that he said the first thing he i don't know and that could be a mistake too i'm just saying here's

02:11:42 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 3:

here's what i'm gonna say with this one i you don't you know you don't kill off your grandma basically when you don't have your homework assignment and there are some people that do and this guy is a guy that I don't know if he's the type of guy that uh is not good with his his verbal game or if he's just a complete liar and he's going for the cancer card because I got to tell you something you start pulling the cancer card out yeah man you're a bad person as a fake backstory yeah um david your thoughts is this guy cheating hey what's up guys good morning

02:12:18 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 6:

good morning what's going on uh not much uh man that's kind of crazy man he got caught cheating

02:12:24 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 3:

red-handed so you think it was a blatant he's cheating on this girl there's no excuse

02:12:28 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 6:

in even if yeah yeah that's kind of low honestly what like what excuse he used but yeah no he yeah no man he got caught cheating red-handed he didn't know what to say and And that's the excuse he used.

02:12:42 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's interesting. You know, the card that he sent to her doesn't really seem to be much there. But it's definitely the way that he spoke. I do like when Kevin's like, what kind of cancer? Because it did put him right on the spot. He backed up in his heels and was like.

02:13:01 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 2:

Obviously, cancer is not something you joke about. And you said it's not something you play around with. But it's also one of those things where when you pull it out, Like it's the, it's the ace of spades. It's the thing that I can't come back with the rebuttal to. I have to say, Oh, okay. Yeah. I can't call you out on it. But in this situation you had to, because clearly it just didn't seem right.

02:13:21 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, it's, if it is true, I mean, if there is a chance that it is true, I mean, he sent her some flowers. He's, you know, it didn't sound like he was trying to have sex with her. It sounded like he was just trying to be nice, but if it's not true and that's his thing, he's a piece of crap. What's going on, Renee?

02:13:40 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys.

02:13:41 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:13:42 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 5:

Now, if that's your friend and they have cancer, how do you not know the details?

02:13:48 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Or how does your partner not know the details? I think that's more important.

02:13:52 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 5:

I know when my husband's coworkers go and brush their teeth or take a scoop.

02:13:56 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, right. He shares everything with you.

02:14:00 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 5:

He's always doing stories after work about coworkers. Absolutely. And he's definitely lying.

02:14:05 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 3:

And I think we all do, too, I would assume, right? We all share, you know, with our significant others, stuff like that happened at work. I'm shocked that she would not have known who this girl is. Or if it's not somebody from work, if it's just somebody that he's friends with, how do you not know this female friend? What's up, Carrie Ann?

02:14:24 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 4:

Hi. He just gave me such an egg. Like, this dodo doesn't even know what a type of cancer means. He literally said the severity of it. and i feel like you have to be like an evil person to lie about cancer but i i truly think

02:14:40 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 3:

that was all just a lie yeah i'm telling you when you lie about stuff like that like cancer i think that if if it is a lie you're going down into that you know the caverns of like the worst people ever you know what i mean i guess uh that's a horrible thing

02:14:58 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

that.

02:15:00 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 5:

And like Shannon said, like, I mean, me and my husband talk about, like, our coworkers all the time. And I don't, I'm sure there's certain things I don't know. But something like that would definitely be talked about. Or, like, you know, it's like, oh, my God, so-and-so. Like, I just feel like that's not something you leave out.

02:15:16 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Carrie Ann, our producer Lydia has sent a text to that number that was given as the flower number to see if we can talk to Ari. Because the truth comes from Ari. and we have not had a response back but our hope is that uh we get arian we should send a text

02:15:36 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 3:

you know hope you're doing well with battling you know something to that effect see if she replies with thank you or what are you talking about yeah congratulations on you know you're

02:15:46 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 2:

on winning your battle yeah see what she says that's actually not a bad idea we'll do that

02:15:51 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 4:

from another number. Pam, what's happening? Hi, good morning. So everyone is focusing on the cancer right now, but why are you using a notes app to communicate if they didn't have anything to hide? There's really no reason for that. Great, great comment. Sometimes it's right in your face.

02:16:08 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest with you though? Why would the note, I use notes. I use notes for my own personal notes. Why would somebody, like, I don't get it. Well, sometimes I've used it before if I'm

02:16:19 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 3:

collaborating with someone like i know a graphic designer and we're going back and forth and if we're updating our charts or if we're updating the plans for an event that we're having it's

02:16:27 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 1:

just easier to keep it in a note section i guess you can turn the notifications off like wes and i have a shared one of like restaurants we want to visit for example and i get an alert every time it gets updated but i know and we've talked about this before i know that the notes app has been a big thing for cheaters to use because i guess you could use it secretly and not know it's not like a text message or a dm it's not the first place that somebody would look if they think that

02:16:52 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 2:

something's up amanda you had this happen you dated a guy who lied lied about cancer

02:17:00 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 7:

yeah this was about 10 years ago i want to say i was 21 so like i'm naive right i met this guy he was a bouncer at a bar thought he was adorable um and he's like oh yeah i'm vegan i just recently found out i had cancer so i'm going the all natural route and doing all this homeopathic stuff it's brain cancer so you know they're not going to be able to do much for me gives me this whole story like i feel so bad i'm cooking meals for him and his kids mowing the lawn doing all this stuff and what i mean we just broke up i never heard from him and he's still alive to this day and called me from jail recently so i mean karma got him but he obviously didn't have cancer

02:17:45 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 2:

yeah isn't wow that's interesting so you found out that this guy is probably not the most honest of guys why would you say you have cancer although gosh i have no idea i mean like i don't know what

02:17:57 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 7:

kind of pickup line that is like he was a cute guy there was no reason to lie would you have done

02:18:02 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 2:

all that stuff for him though if he didn't say that he had cancer i'm a nice i'm a nice person

02:18:07 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 7:

then I would have, you know, I'm a nice person if we were dating, yes.

02:18:12 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

She mowed the lawn. That's the member lover.

02:18:16 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 7:

That's out of my way to do extra stuff.

02:18:18 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Yeah, I think some people love the sympathy and attention. Yeah. It's sick. It's a mental illness.

02:18:25 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what is that illness called?

02:18:27 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it called Munchausen syndrome?

02:18:28 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Munchausen syndrome, yeah.

02:18:29 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 1:

They get off on it?

02:18:30 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. Megan, what's going on? Hi, Megan.

02:18:34 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 6:

Hey, guys. How are you?

02:18:35 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

02:18:37 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so long story short, my aunt's with this guy for eight years, right? And he's got bone cancer, and it's spread all over his body. So my aunt's driving him to and from these appointments, but she never goes in. She always just drops him off. Who questions if somebody tells you that they have cancer? Right. Long story short, this guy ends up getting in a motorcycle accident and passing away. And during his autopsy, my aunt's asking a couple questions here and there. It turns out that I never had cancer, and he was healthy as a horse.

02:19:07 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 2:

Where was she dropping him off then?

02:19:09 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, what was he doing? She was dropping him right off at the hospital.

02:19:13 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

But what was he getting done if he didn't have cancer?

02:19:18 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 6:

It remains a mystery to this day that he was even still going into the hospital.

02:19:23 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 3:

Amazing. Wow. Coming right out.

02:19:25 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 6:

She never questioned it. She never questioned it. She just dropped him off and went about her business and went back in an hour or however long he said and picked him up and never had a stitch of cancer

02:19:36 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 1:

in him. He's watching TikToks for an hour in peace and quiet of the hospital lobby. Yeah, you

02:19:42 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

wonder, like, what is his whole point and what is the point of him doing that just to get the sympathy? This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses, the throwback throwdown, and the dirty of the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning. We got Tate McCray sold out tickets.

02:20:00 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 5:

02:20:19 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:20:22 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 5:

We get a look at what is trending, Dirty on the 30 right now. Shannon, what's happening?

02:20:27 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, Kelly Clarkson has postponed her Las Vegas residency yet again. She delayed the opening of the shows earlier this summer, if you remember us talking about it, because she was having some sort of vocal issue. This time in a message on her social media, it's for a different reason. She writes, while I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill. And at this moment, I need to be fully present for them. Now, she did not reveal her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock's specific illness, just that it was bad enough that she needed to pause her career for the time being to be with her kids. Britney Spears fans are slamming her ex-husband, speaking of exes, Kevin Federline, in the wake of his recent announcement that he is currently writing a tell-all book about her called You Thought You Knew. He said the book going to reveal extremely intimate and transparent details about their highly publicized marriage. And he says of the upcoming book, I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the dad to my children as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence. Well, fans of Britney's naturally are not happy about this, calling it a blatant cash grab. Good for him. One wrote on Reddit, damn, that child support dried up real quick. Another, wow, he really needs some money.

02:21:54 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 5:

Britney fans understand this guy raised the kids while she was, you know, going through her troubles. He deserves a little bit of money. I don't think that there's anything wrong with that. I hear he's a good dad.

02:22:05 - 02:22:05 | Unknown:

Agreed.

02:22:06 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 5:

So, I don't know. His name's Kevin. What's not to love? I hate when the Britney fans all blame everybody else for Britney's problems. Toxic.

02:22:14 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 3:

One person I saw wrote on the day of his book's release, we should all go buy a copy of Britney's book and get her book back on the charts. Like, people are already plotting how we should do this.

02:22:26 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 4:

People love Britney Spears, like, man.

After being convicted on those prostitution charges, Diddy's attorney, Mark Agnifilo, said Diddy's already looking ahead. He plans on being on the Madison Square Garden stage again one day.

02:22:38 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

What is it that Sean Combs wants people to know?

02:22:41 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 1:

He wants people to know that I think that he has reflected on the blessings that he's been given, on the imperfections that I think he sees in himself. I think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children. He wants to take care of his mother.

02:23:03 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 2:

So he's talked to you about getting back into music if he's released?

02:23:06 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 1:

Not, no, no. Honestly, he has not. One thing he said He said he's going to be back in Madison Square Garden

02:23:15 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey what's up y'all this is Diddy And you're listening to the morning show that I listen to When I'm in Detroit Or in jail On the iHeartRadio app Hey what's up y'all this is Diddy And you're listening to the morning show that I listen to While I'm in prison On the iHeartRadio app This is Diddy

02:23:32 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 3:

And lastly Beyonce's mom Tina Knowles

02:23:36 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 5:

We're going to show Brittany no sympathy But we're going to show Diddy sympathy

02:23:39 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

02:23:40 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 5:

I don't. Players for both of them. You know what? Diddy, I don't think Diddy should be doing shows in Madison Square Garden for some time. It's probably not a good idea.

02:23:49 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 3:

Tina Knowles sharing on Kate Hudson's Sibling Revelry podcast that her daughter has been calling her out for something that she's been doing online.

02:23:59 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:24:00 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

I have no shame, you know, post 25 videos and then I get a call and, and Beyonce will be like, Mama, can you not post so much? Like, come on now. When are you ever going to stop? Oh, she's one of those.

02:24:14 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 5:

You don't need to do.

02:24:15 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 3:

You're doing too much. Yeah. Posting too much about the family online. And Beyonce said. Interesting. No more, mom.

02:24:21 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 5:

Is she also posting like the stuff where she like sounds like she's having a bad day? Like worst day ever.

02:24:28 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 3:

And then no explanation.

02:24:30 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 5:

No explanations at all. You want to figure that whole thing out? Was it? Wait, didn't. Who was it recently that got? Was it her that she was being vocal to some people on social media, too? Her mama? Yeah. Yeah, lately she's been popping up. She popped off on Kanye not too long ago. Okay, there was a story in her. Yeah.

02:24:48 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 3:

All right, for everything you missed today. Hey, what's up?

02:24:50 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 2:

This is Beyonce, and you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

02:24:53 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 3:

You can listen to the podcast of The Dirties and the whole show. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:25:00 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 3:

At Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. Kev had some kid ask you to go in and buy them alcohol. An underage kid asked you this. Where were you?

02:25:18 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 4:

I was at a liquor store. A store I stopped to. Ran in to get some chips, whatever the case may be. Where was the kid? He was standing outside near the door, so I parked my car. I get out. You got to walk to the front of the liquor store. Walked to the front. He kind of, like, hanging out in front. He's like, hey, hey, what's up, bro? What's up, OG? I'm like, what's going on? He's like, hey, man, had the $20 bill sticking out of his hand, facing towards him. He's like, hey, can you grab me a beer? I'm looking like, bro, like, how old are you? How old do you think he was? I knew he didn't look 21. I can say that because the fact that you're asking me to buy you a beer, it tells me that you're not 21. But he wasn't, like, a middle school kid. Like, he wasn't super young. But I'm like, how old are you? He was, like, 18. I was just like, nah, bro. Kept it moving and just went into the store and handled my business. And for you. I can't do that. I would. Undercover police officer. You say he went on wire? I would think that too. No, honest to God, that's where my brain goes. I didn't think that much. I just didn't want to like, he'd get in a car, drive somewhere. I didn't want that to be on my conscience.

02:26:14 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 3:

I would think that that was a complete setup too. I would think that there was somebody that was going to jump out at me. You ever see the guy that goes to the malls and runs around after people and goes,

02:26:26 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, this guy's a pedophile.

02:26:29 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

You ever see that guy at all? There's a guy on TikTok and Instagram, and he does the whole Chris Hansen setting you up to see if you'll have sex with an underage person. And then he follows you around and goes,

02:26:46 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, this guy's a pedophile. He came here to sleep with a girl.

02:26:50 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 3:

You know, and the guy screams at him. And the guys that he busts all are, like, trying to leave and walk out because they're all embarrassed because they got busted. And they all are, like, whatever. And then he starts punching them in the head and stuff.

02:27:03 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 4:

There's a lot of that going on, too. It's crazy. They start to take the law into their own hands.

02:27:07 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 3:

So they start punching. I'm, like, going, holy crap, this guy's going to fall into the fountain in the middle of the mall, you know? With all the change. To go back to yours buying alcohol, when I was younger, I could buy alcohol even though I was underage because I look so old. And there used to be a restaurant that was by our house called the Charlie Horse. And I would go up to the Charlie Horse. It was literally, if anybody lived in Orland Park, it was Orland Square Mall. The Charlie Horse was like a bar and grill type place. And if I wanted to, I could buy alcohol. one of the orland park police uh people asked if i would do an undercover skin are you serious yeah what'd you say uh it was well it was a guy that belonged to our parish st mike's and he was like hey we're trying to do this thing we're trying to bust you know bartenders that are serving underage people without asking them for their ids and i'm like oh my god like i thought to myself because i was a wanna cop you know i always wanted to be a cop i still to this day i want to be a cop like i'm like a mall cop but i i thought i was gonna be kind of cool and then i was informed by my brother tony who is an attorney he was in law school time not a good idea and i said why is that he goes even though you're helping out you would put yourself in a position where you could find yourself honestly like getting well getting not so much danger but you your reputation becomes ruined you know what i mean like not a good idea to do it in your own hometown probably if you wanted to do this thing it'd be doing somewhere else but it's your own hometown and i thought to myself i'm like plus i would really like to still keep the guy serving alcohol at the charlie horse low-key yeah what's a parish uh catholic uh the catholic parish that we belong to that's the church community um it's funny uh because i could see like i think it's good that you're responsible that you wouldn't do it for some reason i could see zach and maybe

02:29:01 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 1:

even bianca probably more so bianca than zach 100 bianca would you do it for money if the kid was

02:29:06 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 3:

gonna pay you money would you do it i mean i've done it before you have bought underage people

02:29:11 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 1:

yeah i have i'm not gonna say where like friends of yours yeah and random strangers yeah what's the random stranger thing how did they approach you uh well it was a big thing in college too i've like kids don't have like a fake idea or anything or they don't work then they'll be like hey can you use yours or can you buy me one like if i was underage buying from other underage or if i was of age yeah you know i have it's like a big thing at msu sorry by the way her hair looks cute today you look yeah i actually slept in this i wore this to the concert yesterday and i got home too late so i didn't want to change i like that i like the uh doesn't it isn't cute i feel like

02:29:44 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 3:

lucy would do that she does this is a baddie so so wait so go back to this for a second so kids would ask for your id do they even look like you or no no no they would ask like for me to buy it

02:29:55 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

for them okay but i have used my id for other people before in east lansing i've learned

02:29:59 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

02:30:00 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 6:

that there's, like, two different places that just are easy as hell to go and just buy stuff from.

02:30:05 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the two liquor stores. Yeah. One on the east side, one in the west area.

02:30:09 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 9:

How are they not more careful? Because I feel like I would always. No, I know, but I feel like if, like, the cops know that they're probably selling to college kids.

02:30:18 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 1:

Like, they're always, like, getting a new business, new owner, all the time.

02:30:21 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 6:

But I also think, Shannon, in some regards, I think that they just assume, all right, these kids are doing it on campus.

02:30:27 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 9:

They're just going to fraternities.

02:30:28 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they would almost rather have them do it there than go and doing it somewhere else. Hey, Dana, hi.

02:30:38 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. How are you? So when we were great, you know, when we were kids, we would hang out at the party store, wait for somebody that looked like they were pretty cool and they'd buy for us. Well, we got a guy to do it. He goes into the store and he buys us a case and he has the store owner double bag it so we couldn't see what was in it. We get around behind the store to crack open a beer, and it's Coca-Cola. Wow.

02:31:04 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man.

02:31:05 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 3:

So what do we do? What do we do as kids? We go back to the front of the store and get somebody to buy us a fifth of rum.

02:31:12 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 6:

Now you got yourself cocktails. That's actually great. Emily, what's up? How are you?

02:31:21 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good. How are you guys?

02:31:22 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 6:

Good. What's going on, Emily?

02:31:24 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 7:

Good. Okay, so I just had a funny story. I went to renew my ID. I think I was about 23 years old or something. And anyway, a friend that was much younger than me took my expired ID, and she used it for like a year. And then I think the year that I was about 24, almost 25, I got married, became pregnant, and this bar reached out to me and posted my ID on Facebook and was like, Emily, we know this isn't you. We know you're having a baby and everything, and someone's using your ID here for like a few nights in a row and someone caught on to it that knew me.

02:31:53 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 6:

That's great. So they stole your ID to use it for this?

02:31:56 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 7:

No, I gave it to the girl. Oh, you gave it to her. But they knew you well enough to know you were pregnant.

02:32:02 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:32:03 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they were like, this is not you. She's having a baby, and they showed her, like, my Facebook, and she's like, okay, and I think she ran, and then they just kept my ID and made me go pick it up at the bar.

02:32:12 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 6:

That's great. What's up, Courtney? How you doing? Kev was offered, or not offered, but he was asked by some kid out in front of a party store to buy alcohol for him. What's going on?

02:32:21 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 8:

So in high school, we used to play a game called Hey Mister, and we would go downtown Ann Arbor and go up to homeless people and ask them to buy us alcohol, and that's how we would get our alcohol. We'd give them like 10 bucks, and they'd buy it for us, and we called it Hey Mister.

02:32:35 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 6:

That honestly is genius, to go to the homeless guys and then give them a little bit of money. Weren't you worried, though, the homeless guy was going to steal your booze?

02:32:43 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 8:

I mean, 100%. Well, steal more than that, but I mean, you know, you're desperate when you're young, But now that I have kids, it terrifies me because I don't want them to be as bad as me.

02:32:53 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to say this to you. If I was a homeless guy, I would stay out in front of, like, a party store, a liquor store on a college campus and wait for these kids. There's one of the places in East Lansing, the one that's next to the Mexican place, that they card me.

02:33:10 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes. They actually have a wall of everyone's fake IDs. Like, they don't take any of them.

02:33:13 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 6:

I mean, they're, like, badass about it. But then they also, I'm looking at them like, are you serious? Like, look at this guy.

02:33:19 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 1:

You know, I got accused of having a fake ID this weekend. Like, I was trying to go into a bar and they denied me because they thought my ID was fake.

02:33:25 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 6:

Really?

02:33:25 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it wasn't. I was like, you can call the cops.

02:33:27 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 6:

Do you feel like they were making a little assumption about your picture? Like, does your picture look better or worse now than it was before?

02:33:34 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, it was like a year ago. I looked the exact same. So it should be different.

02:33:37 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 6:

Maybe, I don't know.

02:33:38 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 1:

Have I aged in the past year?

02:33:39 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 6:

Or no, you're Benjamin Button in it. You're looking younger. It's that hairstyle.

02:33:43 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 9:

You're having to glow up? Your hairstyle does make you look younger.

02:33:46 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 6:

Really? Yeah. What's up, Samantha? How you doing?

02:33:49 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys?

02:33:50 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 6:

Good. We're talking about having somebody buy you booze when you're underage.

02:33:55 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

So this wasn't buying booze underage, but when my brother was underage in college, he walked into the Secretary of State and said he was our older brother and that he had lost his ID and then got his picture taken with all of our older brother's information on it.

02:34:09 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That's genius. And it worked, huh?

02:34:12 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 4:

And criminal.

02:34:13 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 6:

And criminal. And criminal. Right. How well do you know these songs?

02:34:20 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 2:

02:36:00 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning show hello hello i was having a discussion uh and i talked before about this but i was having a discussion talking to uh chelsea and asking the question of um what is better sex high sex or drunk sex because i don't get high very much but for some reason when i get a little buzzed and a little drunk i my horny level goes to a craziness and i feel like if i have some alcohol in me i feel like that is the best time to have sex and there are some people that say that they cannot have sex when they're drunk because they say that they get like whiskey d And I have to be perfectly honest with you. I think that is the best D that you can possibly have.

02:36:57 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 5:

Why is that?

02:36:58 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 4:

Because I think that it makes you be able to perform a little bit better.

02:37:04 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it definitely makes you last longer.

02:37:05 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, and that's the thing. And I think that that's where the performance comes into play. And then you look like you're a stallion. If you're high, though, and I've never done this before. And I wanted to kind of throw it out there to any of our stoners that we have out there. The bajillion and one stoners that are there. Um, I'm sure you've drank, you know, drank into excess and, and got, you know, to a point where you were drunk. What sex is better sex? Cause I've never tried high sex before.

02:37:31 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 5:

I've done high sex before, like back, you know, in the day when I used to smoke, there is a different sensation. The, I don't know, it's like a heightened level of awareness through your nervous system. It's almost like things feel at a level that's higher than if I normally touch your arm. You know what I mean? Like, it just feels more experiential. Drunk sex, if I'm, like, sloppy drunk, that's not going to be bad. No, no, no. I think you have to say buzzed.

02:37:59 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 3:

You almost have to say buzzed or else it's bad.

02:38:02 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea hates the smell of bourbon. Like, Chelsea actually has said, oh, she can't stand it when I drink. Because the smell of bourbon to her smells like, you know, it's, like, very boozy. And so she doesn't like it at all. So there's no sex when there's bourbon sex. but they're there you can't even get it off your teeth when you brush your teeth yeah like people like guys here's the deal if you're drinking bourbon and you are thinking to yourself okay i i'm you know i'm gonna drink bourbon i'm gonna put like mints in my mouth so that you know people don't know that i've been drinking it smells like they know you're drinking yeah it smells horrible and in in the uh you have to be very very careful with that vodka or tequila on the other hand i don't think that the smell is that bad and i have never been a tequila drinker like i don't like tequila but everybody around me drinks tequila all my guy friends drink tequila all the chelsea and her friends and stuff drink tequila tequila good bro it's a good time i don't like tequila tequila

02:39:01 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 3:

does not tequila to me tastes like crap see i have to have it in a margarita or in some sort of a drink i can't just i mean you know i can't like sip something or take shots of why can't you do shots i have not been able to do shots since like i started drinking in college we gotta get you on shot if i if you see me first off i don't like taking shots because i don't like feeling drunk and that gets me drunk so quickly but also i just can't like there's gonna be a million i can't just open my throat and like swallow all that liquid okay we are talking about alcohol clip is that yeah but that is the truth i don't know how people just like down that's what she said like i can get about half of a shot and then that's what she said and then i have to take another half of the shot yeah do you see what i mean i i uh will tell

02:39:51 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 4:

you that uh i don't know how people drink any alcohols without putting anything in them like i can't drink straight on you do straight I don't. I don't like it that much. I like to have some kind of something mixed in it or an old-fashioned or whatever. But I also don't know how people will do, like, straight-on vodkas unless there's a flavor to the vodka. Although flavored vodka is completely out. Like, I don't even see people order bottles or get vodka that have flavors anymore.

02:40:20 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 5:

But shots is the way to go. Like, if you're trying to get the party started, it's basically like if it's driving, you're on the freeway with shots. Like, you're not stopping at lights. Like, it's time to go. Let's get this party started. And then let's lead into, let's mix the drinks up a little bit.

02:40:36 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 4:

And then kind of go with that. Okay, so high sex or drunk sex? Just want to do a little quick experiment and ask the question of our listeners and see what your thoughts are. What kind of sex is better sex? Audie, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you?

02:40:50 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 2:

I'm fine. How are you guys? Hey, y'all. Hey.

02:40:53 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 4:

What's happening, Audie?

02:40:54 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 2:

so um liquor definitely get you there especially dark liquor dark liquor make you feel sexy yes yes yes and i'm only taking straight shots and yeah i want to have a lot of fun after that

02:41:10 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 4:

so you're you're you're drunk sex more so than high sex or do you ever do you ever yeah because

02:41:15 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 2:

i don't really smoke that much but i have done high sex before and they back yeah sensation

02:41:22 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 4:

I have a friend of mine says he loves to have sex when he's doing mushrooms. And I have to be quite honest with you. I'd be afraid at that point.

02:41:32 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm scared of those.

02:41:33 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:41:34 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm scared of mushrooms.

02:41:35 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 4:

I've never tried that. I've never tried mushrooms at all. But I've always thought to myself, if I try mushrooms, that will be the end of my career. Because something that I will do will end up coming back to bite me in the ass. What's up, Heather? How you doing? I'm good. How are you? Fantastic. High sex or drunk sex?

02:41:55 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, it depends on how you're getting high, and it depends on what liquor, too. Because, like, my husband, I like him drinking gin. Oh, it's a great night, Ben. Strooms are great for me, as well as ecstasy. Not so much weed. It kind of puts me to bleep.

02:42:12 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so let's go back for a second. I got so much to explore with this call. Why gin makes your husband better?

02:42:20 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. If he's drinking gin, he can go for like hours.

02:42:25 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Is there ever a point, though, where you want to stop? Where you're just like, this is enough already?

02:42:31 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that actually does not sound fun to me.

02:42:33 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 4:

Get dry.

02:42:34 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys have a halftime?

02:42:38 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys play like professional basketball compared to college basketball? You have quarters, so you can actually have breaks?

02:42:48 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 1:

No, it's pretty much over when I'm done. Okay, now talk to us about ecstasy.

02:42:53 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 4:

I want to know about this because that to me seems like it's a little overblown.

02:42:58 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay, ecstasy is kind of like it's a druggier version of mushrooms. And I prefer mushrooms over ecstasy just because...

02:43:09 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever found yourself howling at the moon while having sex when you're an ex? No. What's the craziest thing that you've ever done? And I hope it's clean. Radio appropriate. I know.

02:43:22 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 1:

While on that, I was talking to the trees in a park.

02:43:28 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 4:

And what did they have to say? What did the trees have to say?

02:43:32 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 1:

You would not believe they had so much to say. It was such a windy, beautiful night.

02:43:36 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 5:

The stories they could tell. That's amazing. Is ecstasy like Molly? Or is that completely different? It's about the same. Because I heard Molly sex is otherworldly.

02:43:46 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 4:

Really? Wow.

02:43:47 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 5:

I have never done that.

02:43:48 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 4:

Where are you from, Heather, and how do we find somebody that's like you? That's amazing. She goes crazy, wants her husband on gin. She's taking acts. That's crazy. Key, what's up, Key? How you doing?

02:44:03 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you guys. How you doing? Good morning.

02:44:05 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 4:

We're doing good. We're trying to figure out which sex is the best sex.

02:44:10 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 3:

Buzz, 100%. But I agree with Shannon. I cannot do shots. Yeah. It would just take me right there. Then I'm sick. Stomach sucks. Yeah. Same. Don't nobody get anything. Yeah. No, I actually want to enjoy my night.

02:44:24 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't want my girl throwing up on you. You know what I mean? Like, we've had a point where I will say this. Chelsea is very good at handling her alcohol. She's a pro when it comes to this stuff. She doesn't drink as much, though, these days. You know, when you've lost weight and you're kind of, I think you lose a little bit. But when Chelsea does some drinking, it is the greatest just to see how happy she is. I just love that.

02:44:51 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

I love happy drugs. It's smooth salad with a cocktail, right, Shannon? Yes, absolutely. And you know what? Lately, I feel like if I'm...

02:45:00 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 2:

especially if I'm going out with girlfriends, if I take, like, and I don't smoke, but if I bite, like, a gummy in half or something, and then I'll have a drink, I am so joyful. I am very happy.

02:45:12 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 4:

Are you a giggler and stuff?

02:45:13 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 2:

I don't even get to that point. It's just, like, I don't know. Yeah.

02:45:18 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 4:

Do you become a better dancer when you're biting a gummy?

02:45:21 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 2:

Let's all be real. I can't. Sober.

02:45:24 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 4:

As far as you know, though, you are. That's why you got to try a mushroom. What's up, Lucas? How you doing? No.

02:45:30 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys, this is actually Lucas, the guy who came in on the job interview, who came in with the cop.

02:45:36 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, what's up, man? Wait, can you talk about stuff like this with us?

02:45:41 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, I can. Okay. Well, I mean, well, I didn't know the cops. They just brought me in because of the car accident on the way to the interview. Oh, that's right. Are you the one with the guitar? Yeah, that was me. That was you.

02:45:51 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I remember you. That was awesome. Which sex is best sex, Lucas?

02:45:55 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 5:

Definitely buzz sex because, you know, you know, you're just having a good time. You know, you're feeling in the moment, you know, and obviously not when you're, you know, sloppy drunk because that's just ridiculous. But, you know, tried high sex one time and we just both fell asleep. We didn't even get to it.

02:46:13 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 4:

That is funny. You have to be careful how much you go because there is nothing worse than both of you passing out. And then you're like, I don't even know what just happened. What's up, Darren? How you doing?

02:46:26 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 6:

Hey, morning, Mojo. How are we doing this morning?

02:46:27 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 4:

We're fantastic, Darren. What's going on with you?

02:46:31 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 6:

So drunk sex is the best sex, especially if you've got a couple shots of tequila. That's a good time right there. Tequila makes the clothes come off. Yes, it does.

02:46:43 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 4:

Tequila. What kind of tequila are you drinking these days?

02:46:47 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 6:

I don't know what kind of my favorite is that right now. I actually just tried a new one I really liked a lot in a margarita. It was really good. But Patron's really good.

02:46:57 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Patron's good. Was it Ocho Tequila? Because that's been like the hot tequila this summer. Everybody's going crazy for Ocho.

02:47:04 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 6:

Can I say the name of a restaurant?

02:47:06 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

02:47:07 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 6:

Because I went to Chili's and got their shark attack. It's like... Shark attack. Yeah. Yeah, it was really good.

02:47:15 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. Is that a special cocktail or is that the name of the actual... Okay.

02:47:19 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 6:

That's a special cocktail. It's like their monthly special cocktail for like six bucks.

02:47:23 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 4:

I love that. by the way he just came right out with that f-bomb and it was hard it was a hard f-bomb say that with his chest brendan says high sex is the best he likes the little thc with uh with his uh his p-e-n-i-s is whatever bro are you okay what do you what do you do what's going on brendan

02:47:50 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 7:

what's up guys how you guys doing Good, what's happening? Good, good. No, yeah, I work at a dispensary, and we actually sell gummies that are made for the quote-unquote exciting times in bed.

02:48:04 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 3:

Really? What do they do? Are they like the little blue pill?

02:48:09 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 7:

No, they're actually a little red pill. They're little red gummies that are wild cherry flavored, and they just get, I don't know, they get me really high, and then all of a sudden, you know, me and my girlfriend just start feeling, you know, excited.

02:48:23 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 2:

Is it supposed to give you, like, a libido boost? Is that part of it, or just that's a side effect that happens?

02:48:30 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 7:

I think it's kind of just, like, a side effect that happens with it. Like, I think they're mainly made to get you high, but, you know, there is a terpene inside of, like, the gummies that are made to, you know, fit that aroma in your body.

02:48:44 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 4:

Is there a brand name that we can look for if we go up to any?

02:48:47 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. they're called uh they're called camino like c-a-m-i-n-o el camino they should not be called

02:48:55 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 4:

camino they should be called camino i don't know they should have something like they should like they come up with a better name like how do they come up with that name that's a bad name yes it's all in how you say it yeah i mean i think that they got to change that um My favorite, somebody told me a while back, and this brings up a good one, was there's a mojo, there's something called mojo, and it says on there, it says, for the best intimate moments, and the person picked it up and goes, nah. They're like, there is no way that there's the best intimate moments. You last 95.5 seconds.

02:49:42 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. Three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

02:49:58 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning, this was something I was...

02:50:00 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 2:

going to do in a trending news, but I'm going to do it now because I saw it and I thought it was too good. So this is trending on Reddit right now. What do you think the craziest reason is why somebody would call in sick to work? When I tell you this, I want to ask the listeners if they think that this is a legit reason to call in sick. Okay. This is the actual letter that was sent to this person's boss. It says, hi, and they blacked out the name, feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the work and my energy feels a little off. So not getting the vibe right now. Again, they're sending this to their boss. I'll be out from the 28th of July to 30th of July. Please don't miss me. And then it goes into explaining what the stuff is that they had to do for work. they called in sick they took a sick day because they said that their energy was feeling a little bit off personal mental health day i'm telling you i i mean listen i wish i had the balls to do stuff like that that some of like the the 20s somethings are doing nowadays please don't miss

02:51:09 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 4:

me though don't you want people to miss you when you're out so that yeah job security that's right

02:51:14 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 2:

joking though like please don't miss me i'm telling you though like i like i don't think 10 years ago that you could call or you could tell your boss i'm taking the world has changed

02:51:23 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 3:

my energy is off i want to be like that the world has changed though man you still have to just suck it up and regardless of how you felt you had a job to do you had a responsibility you had an obligation you got to go do your job but honestly i give him credit energy off my energy's been off

02:51:42 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 2:

all day and i've worked five and a half hours or whatever it's been you know your energy's been fine you're tired it depends on what you're doing i got no energy i'm so exhausted depends on what you're doing all right so here here's the question i ask what is the craziest excuse somebody gave for taking a sick day now you get a sick day or you get days probably that where you're under the weather i don't think that i have ever taken and i've taken sick days when i wasn't sick but i don't think i have ever used an excuse of hey i'm just taking the day even though i probably can do that and just say hey i just need a day whatever but there are so many times where people will come up with their excuse and their excuse is either bs or it could be legit why do you even

02:52:24 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 4:

need to say what why you are taking your sick day i'm taking a sick day that's true but shannon

02:52:30 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 2:

the funny thing is i always feel like i have to explain myself because i think that people think

02:52:33 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 4:

i'm a bs-er i agree i am you know i'm the same yeah if i ever like need to call off or something I'm like, this is what my voice actually sounds like because I need to be believed.

02:52:43 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember that when you leave a voice now? I feel like I've done that forever.

02:52:46 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 4:

But also, I feel like you are allowed so many sick days. You don't need an expert. I am taking a sick day.

02:52:53 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 3:

That's the same thing when you go pick your kids up early for school and you got to sign them out and they say, reason. Yeah. I'm coming to get my child. It don't matter what it's for.

02:53:01 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something? I have signed out Luke from school and said, because he's going to spend time with his dad today. And honestly, I remember at his school, the person in the front office was like, good for you. That's great. They were cool with the whole thing. I just didn't feel like I needed to do like, he's going on to a dentist appointment.

02:53:19 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 4:

My friend signed her daughter out at the end of this last school year because the UV was eight and she wrote that in there. Lindsay.

02:53:27 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 1:

UV is eight.

02:53:29 - 02:53:37 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. I'm taking a day off today because my energy is a little off.

02:53:37 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm with that. I mean, you have the day?

02:53:40 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 2:

I want to be. They give you days. I want, but you know, I know people that take all their sick days and they, and they take them all and they don't, in our company, they go over, like, they'll accrue.

02:53:52 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 4:

I just looked at mine cause I had to, had to take off some days coming up.

02:53:55 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 2:

And when, when I had my heart surgery, I had so many sick days that I didn't have to do a like extended leave.

02:54:03 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 4:

I did the same thing for maternity leave. Yeah. I just exhausted all my sick days. But I was still getting.

02:54:08 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 2:

But there are some people. Listen, we've had people who worked on the show that used all their sick days. And I thought to myself, I'm like, man, if you do ever eventually decide that you're going to have a baby, you have no days. You know what I mean? Like you're getting unpaid.

02:54:20 - 02:54:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't think they don't give you the pay. I don't think this company does it. But I used to work for companies where if you were no longer employed there, they had to pay you out. The amount of your days. I've heard of companies that do that. They do?

02:54:32 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 2:

I think that, yeah, I think that they might do that. um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 give me a call or i'm taking a rando i'm i'm gonna go rando like rando who we go rando rando caller hi mojo in the morning hello

02:54:47 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 1:

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

one more time i didn't catch it what say it again

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 3:

and your phone cut out again. Say it.

02:55:02 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 4:

P-U-C-K. Puck.

02:55:04 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 3:

Puck. Puck. P-U-C-K. Puck. What's going on, Puck?

02:55:09 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 4:

I had a coworker come in once who called in because they were tired and stressed. And this was during COVID.

02:55:17 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Listen, though, that's legit, though, at that time.

02:55:20 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do think that's a legit reason to not come in.

02:55:24 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 3:

But when you're Puck and you're the one having to do all the work, you're like, now you just made me even more tired and more stressed. You're switching that first letter. And I get why you would be like, hey, I'm calling in for this one, because it does. It falls on you now. You're the person that has to do all the extra work. What's up, Tina?

02:55:43 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning, guys. Good morning. So my husband and I have a plumbing company, and on one of our job sites, the guy came up to my husband and told him that he had to go home because his penis hurt. again just say you have to go home

02:56:01 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 3:

i would have asked so many questions about that that is fantastic my husband did ask a lot of

02:56:12 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 4:

questions my husband doesn't have a social filter so definitely had a fun time with it

02:56:18 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 3:

oh my god oh that's great miranda what's up it's mojo in the morning we're talking about craziest sick day excuses hey first time mom

02:56:26 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 6:

hey so i had an old co-worker who called in sick because her boyfriend had passed and she had his ashes and she called in sick because she spilled them oh no she spilled them oh that sucks

02:56:45 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 5:

I mean, again, valid.

02:56:47 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:56:47 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 5:

Valid. Very valid. But also, like, did she?

02:56:52 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 3:

Right. You can't root. What do you say to that?

02:56:55 - 02:56:57 | Speaker 5:

I mean, like, I don't know. Send a picture. Send a picture.

02:56:57 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 3:

I want to see it. And the penis guy. Send a picture. What's going on, Dennis? How you doing?

02:57:04 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 1:

Good. Good morning. How are you?

02:57:05 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 3:

We're good. We're talking about the craziest sick day excuses.

02:57:09 - 02:57:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so when I was an employer, when I was a manager at UPS, one of my employees texted me one day and he basically sent me about a three scroll page on iMessage about just some sob story. And at the end of it, I read that his girlfriend kicked him

02:57:26 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 3:

out of the car and he's been walking for the last five hours. That's the worst. Yeah, no. And it

02:57:35 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 1:

ended up being that he was actually 20 minutes away because my boss saw him. You know what I

02:57:42 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 3:

would have said we'll come get you and we'll get you into work you know give him a ride no this

02:57:46 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 1:

kid was a dope fiend or something i don't know he was always itching and scratching so i was okay

02:57:51 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 3:

with that y'all don't test uh josh what's happening it's mojo in the morning

02:57:57 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 2:

oh just calling about an employee used to work for me and uh he uh called on the 4th of july and said that he was running late because he was at the secretary of state

02:58:07 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 3:

what a dummy what a dummy

02:58:11 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 2:

did you call him out not on the phone waited until he got there and every employee called him out what a dummy he never let it down that's awesome

02:58:28 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 3:

hey thank you for the call we appreciate it you can't sneak that in on us at the end of the conversation I appreciate you buddy gina you there yes i'm here oh my god this is crazy we're talking about crazy calling and sick

02:58:44 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 5:

what was the story okay so i worked in hr at a factory and i had a um employee of ours call in because he said his niece died and when they took her to the coronary that she woke up oh when they

02:59:00 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 3:

They took her to, no, the... The coroner? The coroner, there you go.

02:59:05 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 5:

The morgue? Yeah. And I was like, you are the biggest liar ever. I was like so annoyed with this guy. And then I got home that night and I was watching the news and it was actually true. Oh my goodness.

02:59:17 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? No way. Whoa.

02:59:19 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 5:

Guys, this was like a couple years ago and I don't know what happened. I guess she had a seizure and they thought she had passed and she did not pass.

02:59:28 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. Did you feel horrible not believing him?

02:59:31 - 02:59:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I was so mortified because I was really rude to him.

02:59:35 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's so wild. Emotional in the morning's top trending stories. All right, we do Thursday trending news for you, and we'll do this, and then we will get out of here. We will have tomorrow your last chance to win sold-out. Chris Brown tickets have those for you tomorrow morning, along with a trip to Florida. Be the last qualifier to win a trip to go to Florida. This is an interesting little...

03:00:00 - 03:00:09 | Speaker 2:

tidbit. Amazon customer said the driver masturbated in her bedroom and returned a few days later.

03:00:10 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 4:

Why was the driver in her bedroom?

03:00:12 - 03:00:42 | Speaker 2:

A woman said an Amazon delivery driver who masturbated in her home was at her home making more deliveries two days later. The woman buzzed the man into the home to make the delivery on July the 15th. The woman said that she went to the bathroom, and when she came out, the man was masturbating vigorously, and his shorts were all dirty from the semen.

03:00:42 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Why was he in her house?

03:00:45 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 2:

She yelled at the man to get out, which he did, and she reported the incident to police. However, two days later, that same delivery driver came back to bring another package.

03:00:58 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 1:

He got to go to jail.

03:00:58 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 2:

The woman called Amazon, and they told her that the driver was being used by a third party and contacted them about the incident. The driver has not been charged or arrested. Shannon brings up a very interesting point, but the story does not have the answer. I was thinking if I kept reading it, it would actually give me the answer. But why did she let him in the house? Why did she?

03:01:21 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 3:

And then go to the bathroom while he was in the house. Something's funny here. Vigorously. No, there's a hair in the butter.

03:01:26 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Maybe it was a heavy package, and she said, could you just bring it in and let it in?

03:01:31 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 3:

But then hang on one second. I'm going to go to the bathroom. You just stay right here. There are nice people out there. Not drop it and leave.

03:01:37 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think that's... No, don't believe it. I think that there's something fishy going on here. Vigorously is crazy. Yes, it's crazy. Listen to this and tell me your thoughts. A percentage of 20-somethings and 30-somethings who are moving out, getting married, and having kids has hit an all-time low. The percentage who have done all three back in the 1990s was 45%. And again, moving out of their parents' home, getting married, and having kids. It was 40% back in the 1990s. Well, now it's in the 20 percentile range.

03:02:16 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 3:

Really?

03:02:16 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 2:

More than, like, almost half of the percentage. Economy. With a majority of them saying that they're still living at home with their parents. So 20 and 30-somethings. Cheaper to stay. So, I mean, it's got to be the interest rates. But also, what about getting married or having babies? Like, are they not having babies and getting married because they're still living at their parents' house and they're just not doing that?

03:02:43 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it's probably harder to find somebody if you're living at home. Where are you going to bring them back to? Well, I mean.

03:02:48 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 4:

I also feel like there are so many people now who don't believe in marriage, don't want to get married, and don't want to have kids. Yeah.

03:02:55 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, with that said, listen to this next story. Stressed out adults are relying on pacifiers to soothe themselves. Stop it. A psychological trend that is out right now, and you see it on TikTok videos, has stressed out adults using oversized pacifiers to sleep, calm anxiety, and even quit smoking. Advocates believe in this nostalgic comfort, but dentists and psychologists warn it's kind of damaging to be doing to yourself. Could you imagine? Also, you have risk of suffocation if you have that in your mouth.

03:03:29 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 4:

Rolling over and seeing Chelsea with a pacifier in her mouth.

03:03:31 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 2:

I would love it. That honestly would be the greatest. I'd be like, what's going on here? Is this some new kink? Can I be honest with you? Like, this does not surprise. Our world is crazy.

03:03:43 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 1:

This crazy world.

03:03:44 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 2:

So it's so nuts.

03:03:46 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Pacifier is a little insane.

03:03:48 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 2:

It is so crazy what's going on. Anybody, any adults that do pacifiers?

03:03:53 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you are not calling in. That do pacifiers.

03:03:55 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 2:

There's no way. I got this. We're talking about people that are kind of changing things up these days. Misfit Victor sent me this story. Where the hell is it? Oh, here you go. Victor sent me this this morning. the very first ever D1 football player to ever come out as a furry.

03:04:19 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I saw that, yeah.

03:04:20 - 03:04:47 | Speaker 2:

Did you see this? Yeah, he played for a school in blue, right? The TCU. Yeah, okay. Texas Christian University's quarterback, Josh Hoover, is the first ever collegiate player to ever come out as a furry. Pictures are shown of him dressing up in his fursuits at a Fort Worth, Texas convention for furries. It's an interesting one.

03:04:47 - 03:04:51 | Speaker 1:

What's the thing about being a furry? What is that? I don't really understand it either.

03:04:51 - 03:04:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know either.

03:04:52 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 1:

It's just like a costume, right? But I feel like there's like a sexual component to it. Or maybe I'm just making that up.

03:04:56 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I feel like we always are.

03:05:00 - 03:05:14 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, dressing up at Halloween, I've always thought that maybe that's the next thing. We talk about adults now with pacifiers. Maybe adults need to have their own dress-up closet or something like that where they can dress up in costumes. You know how kids have like...

03:05:14 - 03:05:16 | Speaker 1:

I just played princess dress-up with my niece Stella yesterday.

03:05:16 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 3:

It's funny how kids always have like... Like we had a dress-up box, like a toy box.

03:05:21 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, sierras and shoes and dresses.

03:05:22 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 2:

I do want to find a girl that's into cosplay, though. I do think that's sexy.

03:05:27 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? I do. A little cosplay stuff for you? Here's a couple of medical stories. Social distancing was bull crap. According to a study by UMass, that six feet apart thing where they said that we should get six feet apart, researchers found that it never worked and it was actually, to be honest with you, worthless. They found that particles of bacteria spread way more than six feet apart. And even if you're not six feet apart, they're probably already in the air anyway because of the way that the air moves inside rooms. And this story is another health question, or health story. Nearly 12% of Americans are on a weight loss drug right now. 12% of Americans, one in five women between the ages of 40 and 60 years old are taking a GLP-1 drug, otherwise known as the same drugs that have the names like Ozempic, Mangiorno. This has become more and more popular with now doctors actually prescribing it to people who are as little as five pounds overweight taking it. I see it

03:06:41 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 1:

as something that's getting prescribed more and more for women who are like perimenopausal too. Yeah, doctors are prescribing it.

03:06:53 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 3:

I'll be honest with you. I hear so many people say, what are the side effects? What are the side effects? Well, these same drugs were the same drugs that people who are diabetic have been using for many, many years. So I don't know. I mean, what were the side effects of people that are diabetic taking these drugs?

03:07:11 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Did it make them skinny too?

03:07:12 - 03:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, anybody that I knew that got diagnosed with diabetes and had to be on medication always seemed to lose weight right afterwards, which I never understood why that was never an indication that, hey, this is probably a thing that would help with that. So, all right. That does it for today. Are you guys happy? I am. Oh, my God. I was so tired. You know what? I went to a day game Tigers game yesterday. I'm sorry to light up. It was that. I know. He's right over here. I am out of here. It was so hot in the sun yesterday. And that game yesterday was the longest game ever. There was a... Usually these baseball games now have been like two and a half hours. That game felt like it was forever. All right. Have a great day. We will see you tomorrow. Peace. Bye. 20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
