WPQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVTS Toledo, this is Mojo in the Morning.

00:00:39 - 00:00:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:00:41 - 00:00:44 | Speaker 4:

Live. Mojo.

00:00:44 - 00:00:56 | Speaker 6:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

00:00:56 - 00:00:57 | Speaker 4:

This is it.

00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

00:00:59 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:01:06 - 00:01:07 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:01:07 - 00:01:21 | Speaker 5:

So you guys went to go see Chris Brown last night. And this is the wildest thing, because people think we get all bougie on the show and things go crazy. Like, we get treated like stars. Tell everybody how you got your tickets, and tell everybody where you sat.

00:01:21 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 6:

You go first, Bianca.

00:01:23 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 3:

So I got my tickets from the station, but I got the nosebleeds, the last row in the nosebleeds. No, you didn't. Were you against the wall? Yeah.

00:01:30 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, been there. Yep.

00:01:32 - 00:01:35 | Speaker 5:

Kevin's even better than that. Kevin, tell everybody how you got your tickets.

00:01:35 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 6:

No, I bought my tickets on StubHub for at, like, 7 o'clock. I bought my tickets, fees included, for $35. Shut up. Yeah. And I was in a lower bowl, like section 130 or something. Oh, my God. Wait, that's a deal. It was nice, but it was so packed in there. No, no. Tell everybody what seats. That's a deal. I didn't sit there, though. I sat in the handicap section. I also sat in the handicap section. Let's go. You just moved. It was so, like, when they say sold out, it wasn't, like, a bloviated hyperbole. Like, it wasn't an exaggeration. It was packed. It was literally packed. So when you see all of these people put together and I show up an hour and some change after the show starts, I'm not about to fight through all of these people. So I asked the lady, I'm like, you mind if I just slide right here in the handicap section? She's like, it's just you? I said, yeah. She said, bet. And you know what?

00:02:21 - 00:02:24 | Speaker 1:

And that's where we enjoyed the show. If nobody's there, you're fine.

00:02:24 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 3:

That's what I do, too.

00:02:25 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 4:

Before people get all up in arms.

00:02:27 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 3:

I didn't ask, though. I just sat. You just sat on in there? And my friends are freaking out. They're like, this is someone's seat. I'm like, we're not moving until someone tells you to leave.

00:02:33 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 6:

The handicap section is a section, I don't know if I like it there, though. The bass from the music is, like, infused in the concrete. Really? So every time you felt that boom, I don't know how wheelchair stays still.

00:02:48 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. It was literally like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You got to put a lock on it, right? You're rolling down there.

00:02:55 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 3:

I can sit down, though, and you can still see the show. Yeah, for sure. If I sat down in the section, like, people are standing up in front of you, you can't see anything. If I said the handicapped section, you get the whole view, which is a great.

00:03:04 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 5:

That's a beautiful seat. Wow. Well, okay, so the show is great. Anybody else go to the show? You got to call us up, 844-MOJO-LIVE, and tell us.

00:03:11 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 3:

I did have one issue, though, in handicapped section. What happened? So I was sitting there, and halfway through the show, this girl comes up and stands right next to me, like, touching me. And I'm like, hi, ma'am, is this your seat? And she's like, yeah. I'm like, no, it's not. It's my seat. It wasn't my seat either. And then she was like, yeah, I'm just going to sit here. And I'm like, well, I'm going to be dancing around, so I'm probably going to hit you. And she's like, I don't care. I'm just going to sit here anyways. And I'm like, oh, my God. This girl would literally not move. I was jumping up and down, standing on her, stepping on her. And she was not moving. She was perfectly fine with it. And I was like, what the heck? So she was just in my spot the whole time. But not your spot. No, she was, like, standing right next to me, like, in my personal space. Okay.

00:03:51 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 4:

She was in your seat. That wasn't your seat.

00:03:53 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

But I let her sit there anyway because I'm like, I can't fight it because then I'll get in trouble. Right, right. So I'm back to 300.

00:03:58 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 5:

Why do I picture that this is a show where a lot of people are inside of each other's personal space? Oh, without a doubt. There's probably some dirty stuff going on.

00:04:07 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 6:

A little dirty stuff, a lot of weed being smoked, a lot of people getting kicked out, a lot of booty. I thought sundress season was, or I thought sundresses was the dress of the summer or the outfit of the summer. It's changed to tennis skirts. It was so many tennis skirts in there, and a lot of them was a little smaller than what they should have been. It was a lot of booty.

00:04:27 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 5:

Tennis skirts and a lot of girls wearing golf outfits, like wearing like the.

00:04:32 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 3:

A lot of the girls my age are wearing like the micro shorts, like the booty booty shorts. Yeah.

00:04:36 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

Booty, booty, booty, booty rocking everywhere. I'm here for it. What's up? This is there's only one Lydia in our lives, but this is Lydia Part Deux on the phone lines. Hi, Lydia.

00:04:47 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you guys? Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? So I was actually Uber driving for the concert last night. And I just have to say it was absolute insanity. Oh.

00:05:00 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 2:

I, I, the traffic, it was ridiculous. It took me 40 minutes to drop off a passenger, um, getting off the freeway at Mac and 75 and dropping them off at the, at the destination for the drop-off location. It was so packed. Every street that you turned down was either closed or just masses of people crossing the street.

00:05:25 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

My favorite is when I'm in one of those Ubers, my favorite is when I'm in one of those Ubers and I realized I could walk there faster than my Uber's going to continue to go and I still sit in the car. I'm so lazy. I'm like, no, no, give me a little closer. Give me just a tad little closer.

00:05:40 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 4:

You see people walking past you. Fifteen minutes later, you've gone two blocks.

00:05:44 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

What's a surge price on a Chris Brown concert? I can only imagine what that's like.

00:05:49 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

I had to take a scooter home last night because there wasn't any Ubers around. Oh, really? Rob walked from Ford Field all the way to the Joe Louis Fist. Like, walked there.

00:05:59 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Dan found a scooter. How did that scooter thing work? Do you have to return them to an area or you can put them anywhere? I'll put it right up to my door. And so you leave it there and they don't keep charging you? No. I mean, you hit end. You hit end ride and then it stops. And so what if nobody goes and picks it up? Do they have somebody that goes and picks it up? That's none of my business. My job is done. Okay.

00:06:18 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

I just needed a ride. You paid.

00:06:20 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 3:

Jordan, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:06:23 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm sorry, Bianca, but one, it wasn't your speed. And are you complaining about someone in your personal space at a sold-out show?

00:06:34 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

No, well, it was fine. It was just a little weird because she was standing there and not talking to me at all. I was trying to talk to her, and she was just blank space. She was like, oh. She can't hear you. The concert's a lot.

00:06:45 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 3:

This is from the same girl that goes to Lollapalooza, and literally there's, what, 200 and some odd thousand people.

00:06:52 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 5:

But don't touch me at a Chris Brown concert.

00:06:55 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What's that, Jordan?

00:06:57 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 6:

She's surprised someone's going to touch her at a concert.

00:07:01 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It was just a little weird.

00:07:02 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 6:

She showed up.

00:07:03 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

That's free in your ticket. Yeah. All right. Well, good. We got tickets for you. Tonight's going to be even probably bigger because it's Friday night and everybody's going to go crazy. Park at LCA.

00:07:12 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 5:

That's where I parked. Way easy to get out. Yeah.

00:07:14 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Park a little bit further. Yeah. Let's walk. Or park here at the radio station. That's what I did then. I'm going to be selling parking spots. There you go. We'll see what's going on. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:07:24 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 6:

Let's go.

00:07:25 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

Back in the day. All happened in the same year. This was the year that Taylor Swift, a.k.a. This is written in my script, T. Swizzy, rapped with T. Payne at the CMT Awards.

00:07:44 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

Remember the movie Step Brothers

00:07:46 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly?

00:07:48 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 6:

Where are you going? I'm going upstairs. Because I'm going to put my nutsack on your drum set. Okay? If you do that, I am warning you right now, if you touch my drums, I will stab you in the neck with a knife.

00:08:03 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

And the big song from Chris Brown.

00:08:06 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 6:

Good luck. Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:08:12 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

844-665-6548. Chris Brown on the phone with us right now. No, actually, Chris on the phone with us. Hi, Chris. How you doing? Good. How you doing? Good. What year was that?

00:08:24 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 6:

First time ever.

00:08:24 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Hey!

00:08:25 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 6:

Chris, good to have you here.

00:08:29 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

What year was that? 2008. There you go. Yes, Chris. We got tickets for you. You're going to go see Nelly and Ja Rule at Pine Knob next week. Congratulations to you. Okay. Or actually, when is it? It's tomorrow, right? Is it? I think so. Litia.

00:08:46 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it is tomorrow.

00:08:47 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow. Tomorrow night, Pine Knob. It's going to be hot and sweaty, and you're going to be dancing with all the great music. So congratulations to you. All right. Thanks. Hang on one second. We'll get you set up with that, Chris. Good chance for you to win Tate McCray tickets. That concert, by the way, is already upon us. I think, what, the 15th or something like that or 16th. We have tickets all next week. Make sure you're listening to Mojo in the Morning at 830 for those. Right now, we got tickets this morning and we'll do it now in 930. Text to win Tate. Text T-A-T-E to win Tate McCray tickets. T-A-T-E. You can win Tate McRae tickets, standard text, and data rates to apply.

00:09:27 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:09:29 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 3:

We'll get a look at what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, what you got this morning?

00:09:33 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Still some drama surrounding Hulk Hogan's death. And despite reports that his body would be cremated, his widow Sky Daily says cremation has not yet taken place. I saw like a big memorial service for him a day or two ago. But she explained that the delay for cremation stems from ongoing family concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death and a need for clarity on his medical care.

00:10:00 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 4:

before honoring his wishes and she said his wishes were he wanted to be cremated and if you've been following along with the dirty this week Hulk's daughter Brooke Hogan says there's something funky going on here there are a lot of unresolved questions particularly given his recent leukemia diagnosis his heart surgery she wants an autopsy as do some other family members in fact she is offering to personally pay for an independent autopsy to get some clarity and some answers and for the sake of her dad's dignity and his legacy.

00:10:34 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 3:

You threw us for a loop earlier this week when you said that this new woman in his life is a Scientologist.

00:10:40 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

So is Scientology playing a part in why he has not already been cremated?

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Lots of raised-up votes there. I saw a Tom Cruise movie last night. Amazing.

00:10:50 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

Do we know if Scientologists allow cremation or are they into cremation?

00:10:54 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 4:

or do they think that you're going to float in the air or something?

00:10:58 - 00:10:58 | Unknown:

I don't know.

00:10:59 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

Selena Gomez talking about how she and Taylor Swift became best best friends years ago. How did you guys meet?

00:11:06 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Taylor and I dated the Jonas Brothers. We dated them. I dated Nick and she dated Joe. And everything's like, you know, that's cute. We were like young. We all know and love each other now and it's so cute. we didn't know what we were doing but um yeah she she uh she and i like to say the best thing we got

00:11:32 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

out of those relationships was each other right that was back in 2008 and fast forward to today

00:11:39 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 2:

16 years later they're still best best friends do y'all really want to know about scientology and cremation yeah i don't yeah uh you can be cremated and in fact the founder ron l hubbard or L. Ron Hubbard. He was cremated. Okay. It's a lot.

00:11:52 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 3:

All right. There we go.

00:11:54 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Fun fact.

00:11:55 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, guys. Lastly, would you try it? Breast milk flavored ice cream.

00:12:03 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

Really? I've had the real thing. Oh, man.

00:12:05 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 5:

Rocky Road, Cherry Garcia, Chubby Hubby, and now breast milk. Well, it's the latest ice cream flavor hitting stores near you. It's created by Frida, a company known for making mom and baby products, And Oddfellows, a New York City-based ice cream chain known for making, well, unique ice cream flavors. Now, to set the record straight, this product has no real breast milk in it. The company says it's just supposed to taste like it. They say it's sweet, a little salty, with hints of honey.

00:12:33 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

I always thought breast milk, and I've tasted breast milk before.

00:12:36 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

It tastes like sugar water.

00:12:37 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 3:

I always thought that it was more watered down, yeah. It is. That's what I'm saying. It tastes like sugar water. Interesting.

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 2:

I was curious. I would use it as a chaser.

00:12:47 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 3:

What is your favorite breast move? No, flavor. I was going to ask you a question. All right, you're done.

00:12:55 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

Always, every morning.

00:14:16 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 3:

Shout out Australia. Explain the Australia connection. Do we know, are they down under there and just looking for radio? And Scotland. What is the connection to us? Both of those places. Why are they so excited about this show? I don't know.

00:14:29 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 2:

Can you please tell me this? Shout out my guy, Jay Stieber. He DMs me a lot. He's from Australia. Love you.

00:14:36 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

And what exactly, when they're in Australia, are they thinking about what goes on in the United States? In the Americas. In the Americas. What do they think is happening based on our show? Like, this is kind of an interesting little perspective.

00:14:50 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I think we are their inside man to America.

00:14:53 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Is it?

00:14:53 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

So whatever news we have in the dirties, that's all they know.

00:14:56 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, we'll introduce ourselves if you can't go around the room. My name is...

I was just watching this on social. I was telling Shan, I go, you got to cover this in your next Dirty, but the fourth female love device. Can we say the word? I don't know.

00:16:11 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 3:

I've kind of avoided saying it. I just say sex toy.

00:16:14 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 1:

What do they call it in the news stories? They call it a dilly-dally. By the way, how did it ever get the name with the D name for a sex toy?

00:16:22 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 2:

I did Google that. I chat GPT'd it.

00:16:25 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 1:

Is it something clean to say? Because I always wondered why they called a female toy the D-do.

00:16:32 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 2:

It has a murky origin. Linguists aren't 100% sure where it comes from, but they have theories. Okay. I can entertain them if you'd like them.

00:16:41 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was just looking at this. They had another. This is now the fourth sighting of one at a WNBA game.

00:16:50 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 3:

This one, different color. Different color. Purple.

00:16:52 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 1:

You're switching things up. What, the first couple of them have been green ones, right?

00:16:56 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 2:

Nothing started the third quarter. This guy had three quick turnovers.

00:17:02 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 1:

Uh-oh. There it is again. The person that comes and has to wipe the sweat off of the court, is that the same person that has to come out and get that and take it? That one bounced, though. Can I say something that is going to be controversial?

00:17:20 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 2:

What?

00:17:20 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

People are going to hate me. They're going to probably cancel me. We'll no longer be heard in Australia after this one, or I won't be. I think this is an inside job. I have a very interesting gut feeling that the WNBA is planting the sex toys in the stands and people throwing them because this is getting a little bit more attention than Caitlin Clark right now.

00:17:46 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, she's hurt. She has a groin injury. Her dildo isn't working right now.

00:17:49 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, and let me just say this to you. Oh, you can't say it. We haven't said it. Well, the ratings are not great right now this season for the WNBA. They were big last year with Kaitlin being out. Yeah. And with the hype kind of being a little bit less, this is now their way of trying to get ratings, I think.

00:18:06 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, they just arrested a guy. Yes, they did. So the inside shot. And the craziest thing is it's happening in different cities, too. So it's not like you can pinpoint. What cities has it been? Chicago was one of them, wasn't it? I know the teams. I know it was in Atlanta was the first one. Was it? That was the dilly herd around the world.

00:18:23 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 1:

I think, I'm just thinking that this is one of those ways, it's like a marketing team came together and they said, how can we get more talk? And this person says, hey, I got an idea. I got it. No idea is a bad idea.

00:18:38 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the guy that got arrested is an 18-year-old kid.

00:18:42 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 2:

That's who I figure we'll be throwing these.

00:18:43 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 3:

And he's being charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

00:18:47 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 1:

You know what they need to do? Look at his background. His background is he probably has some kind of association where his dad is a ticket sales guy.

00:18:56 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 3:

He's got food all over his sweatshirt and his mugshot.

00:18:58 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you're right, though. Like, this story is bigger than any other WNBA story we've heard all year.

00:19:05 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. This is the big deal. Like, even the only other thing that came into play was the equal pay thing during the All-Star game as far as the story is concerned. Yeah. But I'm telling you, there's some marketing team that put this together, and they're the ones that are figuring this thing out. Which, by the way, who goes – these are like the people that go to Red Wings games, and they bring octopus or octopods, and they throw them on the ice. I've always said, what are they carrying them in? And I found out they carry them in, like, big old Ziploc baggies or something.

00:19:35 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

That are strapped to their bodies.

00:19:36 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 1:

And they strap them to their bodies so that when they walk through the security, they don't look weird, you know?

00:19:41 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 3:

Ew.

00:19:42 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 1:

To me, I just don't get it.

00:19:43 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 2:

I've always wondered with that, what do they do with the octopus on the ice, though? Like, once they collect.

00:19:49 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, back in the day when the legend Al Sabatka, Sabatka was the guy, Al, who got fired for peeing, I guess, back, a lot of people say that there's conspiracy that. But the team was trying to look to get rid of him. I watched the Charlie LaDuff podcast on that one. Shut up, Charlie. But I think they would scoop it up and then throw it in the garbage, throw it in the trash. What do they do with the hats? They weren't making a calamari. What's that? Like when they do hat tricks and they take off the hats and throw them on the ice. I think those things either go into a donation bin or probably in another donation bin, which is the dumpsters. Marlene, what's happening? Hi.

00:20:26 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Hi. um i think it's totally disrespectful i mean i hope what you're saying is not true because i really believe that it's so disrespectful to women it is you are right maureen yes they would you know what it makes me want to go get a little strap and run around a male nba uh court and bring

00:20:51 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 1:

a strap on what are you talking about what or how about this a c ring bring a c ring to the game and throw those on him. A flashlight. Yeah, a flashlight. I'm telling you. You're right, though. Yeah. Well, listen, it is disrespectful. It's also not safe, too. You're going to hit somebody. Hit somebody in the eye. Yeah. Sophie Cunningham almost got hit. She did hit her in the foot. Yeah. Oh, it did hit her. No, it's bad. What could we throw, though? It's an interesting one. Marlene, will you do a little exploratory for us, and will you find something that we could throw on to the courts for the games? It's control. Yeah.

00:21:25 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, you know, it would be even more disrespectful if you threw one on the men's court, because you know where that's going.

00:21:32 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 1:

I don't, but my mind is turning. You know where it's going? If it's going in a Pistons game, it's going in Cav's pocket. Almost. Cav's going to take it home with him.

00:21:44 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:21:46 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 1:

5 at 6.55. Yeah, 5 at 6.55. Go now. All right, Anna is our reigning champion. She's going for her sixth win in a row. Anna, your challenger this morning from St. Clair's Shores. It says here that he's heading to work, and he's planning on spending some time with his kids this weekend. That's nice, Frank. I think it's a good call to do that. You'll have to do that indoors because it's going to be very hot this weekend. Frank, how you doing? Good. How about you? Fantastic, buddy. I appreciate you being on with us. Say hello to our champion, and Anna, say hello to Frank. Hi, Anna.

00:22:21 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Anna. Hi, Frank. Good morning. Good. How are you? Good.

00:22:29 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 1:

Good to have you guys here with us. Let's play. Five is 6.55. I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area. Anna, we will begin. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Are you pretty good at this, Frank?

00:22:44 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:22:45 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 1:

You actually do?

00:22:46 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 2:

My wife calls me a useless knowledge. Okay.

00:22:50 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 1:

I love it. You know what? Christ. I thought you were going to say your wife calls you useless. I was going to say that doesn't sound very kind to do that. All right, here we go. Five questions. We'll start with question number one. Selena Gomez says that she became besties with Taylor Swift because they both dated Jonas Brothers. Name one of the three Jonas Brothers. Nick. Question number two. In preseason football tonight, our Detroit Lions are taking on the Falcons. Yeah. What city do the Falcons represent? Atlanta. Question number three. Are you ready to feel old? Singer J.C. Shazay is celebrating his 49th birthday today. What boy band is he from?

00:23:37 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 2:

98 Deries.

00:23:39 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Freakier Friday is out in theaters today starring this former train wreck child star who is now living in Dubai. Who is she? Lindsay Lohan. And question number five. This on the floor and waiting for tonight's singer was denied entry into a Chanel store in Turkey this week. What's her name?

00:24:06 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 2:

Great story.

00:24:08 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 1:

Paris Helton. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. He was so good. And then he kind of tapered off.

00:24:14 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, three out of five, right in the middle, Frank.

00:24:15 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Three out of five. I thought you were going to be really good. You kind of rolled there in the beginning, and then you kind of got thrown off. All right, here we go. Question number one. Anna, you've got to beat three out of five. Okay. Selena Gomez says that she became friends, became besties with Taylor Swift because they both dated Jonas Brothers. Name one of the three Jonas Brothers. Nick. You guys both said Nick. One, two, one. Or you could have said Joe or Kevin. Question number two. In preseason football tonight, our Detroit Lions are taking on the Falcons. What city do the Falcons represent? Atlanta. Yes. 22. Question number three. Singer J.C. Shazze is celebrating.

00:25:00 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 3:

Celebrating his 49th birthday today. What boy band is he from?

00:25:08 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 2:

Backstreet Boys.

00:25:09 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 3:

No, both of you guys missed it.

00:25:11 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 1:

What in the heck?

00:25:13 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

NSYNC. 22. I'm saying he's a best singer. There's still a chance. She's got to miss these next two, Frank, to make you a winner. Question number four. Freakier Friday is out in theaters today. Starring this former train wreck child star who now lives in Dubai. Who is she? Lindsay Lohan. Yes. 3-3. And a clean win if you get this next one right. This on the floor and waiting for tonight's singer was denied entry into a Chanel store in Turkey this week. What's her name?

00:25:46 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 2:

Um, is that J-Lo? Yes, J-Lo!

00:25:49 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 3:

Yes, J-Lo! You got it. You clean sweeped all week. Congratulations to you, Anna. Nice job. And you got your sixth win. We'll be back next week for, it would be what, your third week joining us, right? Yeah. I like it. Frank, we have a parting gift for you. Detroit Taco Company is going to set you up with a nice gift card. Have a spectacular weekend. Eat some tacos with that son of yours, buddy. I appreciate you being on with us. Thank you. We love our friends from St. Clair Shores. Appreciate you listening. It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Mojo in the Morning. I'm kind of going back and forth and fighting with a friend on text message. I've been kind of texting back and forth, probably noticed during the show. And they're upset with me because they say that I did not return a call to them that they had sent to me. And you guys tell me what is the etiquette. And I'd like to open this up to the listeners. So our phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or you can text 95500. If you do, text us. Know that we'll try to call you up and tell us if you're a first-time long-time. If someone calls or rather FaceTimes you once and you miss their call, do you call them back? I'm asking that question. So if somebody calls you and you miss their call, they FaceTime you and you miss their FaceTime. You call them back even though there's no message that is sent.

00:27:38 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 1:

I either call them back. It depends on who it is. I either call them back or at the very least, I send a text message saying, hey, sorry, I didn't answer. What's up?

00:27:46 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Why wouldn't you do that?

00:27:47 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 1:

Before I decide if I want to call them or not.

00:27:49 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 3:

I have a friend who is upset with me because they said that I did not return their missed FaceTime that they sent me and then a missed call. They said that it's been a total of four times that they've tried to reach me over the last two days. Why are you avoiding them? I'm not avoiding them. Why do I need to return any of the... They haven't told me what's going on. They're calling you to tell you. But here's the deal. And you can see all the misses that I have here. Hold on. Here's all my misses. Look at all these misses right here. Okay. Your screen red is... These are all the misses. One particular from one of these friends. You'll see them multiple times. You can see... Hold on a second, Shane. I'll take it away from the thing because I don't want people to see their name. Boom. Boom. Yeah. Boom. Oh, yeah. All right, yeah. So there's a few. Boom. So there you go.

00:28:38 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 1:

They're trying to talk to you. I do agree with you, though, after that many times. Yeah. Either leave one of the FaceTime messages, which I love. When a FaceTime message comes, is it just a video? It's a video message. Okay. Or send me a text and say, hey, I tried to call you. This is what it's about. Call me back. If it's that important, definitely.

00:29:00 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 3:

I am not a mind reader. I cannot read minds. And if I don't see that you've left me a voice message, and I get those, I can see the voice messages. I got voicemail right now. Jeff Sackwa, Mary Jo Sanders. What's that all, Sackwa? My buddy, Vivac Beatty. I don't know him.

00:29:19 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 2:

Listen, you're not a mind reader, but you can't read when you missed a call. And because you've read that, and they've called you four times, it seems pretty important, bro. I will say you're guilty after four times for not calling back.

00:29:28 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 3:

But I know that they called or they FaceTimed me and called because they just texted me saying they're angry with me. Now, if you would have texted me right off the bat and said, hey, call me, then I at least have a text message that I can look and see that they want to see me.

00:29:41 - 00:29:53 | Speaker 2:

But I do kind of agree with you that it can't be that serious because I'm the type of person where if you call and you don't leave a voicemail, then whatever you had to say wasn't that deep enough. Yeah. But if you call me and FaceTimed me, then obviously you got something to say.

00:29:53 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

All right. I want to know etiquette on this one. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:30:00 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 2:

Uh, or your text is nine five five zero zero and know this, I will return, I will return your call. We'll pick up. To me, to me, it makes, it makes no sense. I like, you know what this is like, this is like the people that have you ever seen the people that will text you and they'll text you going, I'm going to call you in five minutes instead of just calling you in five minutes, but they'll text you and say, I'll, I'm going to call you in five minutes. And then you get your text going, okay, what do they want me to do? Stop my world for them? They're calling me in five minutes. What do they expect? They just want to make sure you're ready. But that's the double, yeah. Maybe they need to do that more often so I can actually know what's going on. I also feel like you have your heels dug in the sand, as they say, where now you're just not answering or calling that person back because you're stubborn. I've got to mind. Do not disturb.

00:30:46 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 1:

Is there anybody in you guys' life that this has happened where you've avoided a call or a response text and it's gotten to be so long now that you're like, I don't even want to talk to this person ever again because it's so embarrassing honestly it's been so long to me

00:31:03 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 2:

it's now become a joke this is going to be a joke for me uh i'm going to put them in the do not pick up category of my phone what's up ashley how you doing i'm good how are you guys fantastic what's

00:31:14 - 00:31:24 | Speaker 4:

going on um i don't ever answer my text messages or calls i feel that's important they're going to leave me a voicemail but sometimes it's to the point to where my voicemail is so full they can't

00:31:24 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

them leave one you know what that is when you know that is when you know you're ultra popular or you are a hoarder when you have your voicemail all full that drives me nutty when i call somebody

00:31:36 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 1:

and they're like this the voice mailbox belonging to mojo i'm like really so says the woman who

00:31:42 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 2:

her voicemail message is don't don't leave me a message text me i love those because you know why i'm gonna get back to you right away then yeah true you'll text them right away what's up kelly

00:31:52 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 5:

hi hi guys what's going on not much how are you good to talk to you happy friday what are your thoughts on this um so i kind of have like a system like i have certain friends that have been my friends for a long time and we just we play phone tag like i know if they call then you know i just call them back um there's certain people like never call you so if they do call you you pick up because it's probably like an emergency or something like that but ultimately if somebody wants to talk to you you know leave a message send a text but mojo for facetime misses i i think you probably should have picked it up uh you know what that's actually

00:32:35 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 2:

an interesting system because i think i have somewhat of a system like that i just didn't realize it until you said it but that's that's kind of what i do but yeah four four is a lot What's up, Sean?

00:32:45 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 3:

What's up, man?

00:32:47 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

Who are you talking to there, Sean? Hi.

00:32:50 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 3:

I was talking to you.

00:32:54 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're talking before I even picked you up. What's going on, Sean? What are your thoughts?

00:32:59 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, check this out, man. Mojo. Hey, what's up, kid? Hey, how you doing, Sean?

00:33:03 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

00:33:05 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 3:

Hey, check this out, man. Look, Mojo. You think you're too famous to... I mean, come on. That's the Hall of Fame. I got kids. I got grandkids. Look, somebody called me. I'm going to return it because, hey, it could be anything, bro.

00:33:22 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey, congratulations. Somebody famous now hates you. No, that's not the case. I don't, Sean, Sean, I don't think that it's that. And honestly, this is actually a good friend, and I don't want them to feel that way. But if I would have gotten a message from them or a text message, I would have known they needed to talk to me. I thought that they wanted to just do a normal BS.

00:33:44 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 3:

Any good friend of mine, Mojo, any good friend of mine, I'm going to return the call, Mojo. You should return that call. Hey, Sean, you know what it is? Nobody's a good friend. You know what it is, Sean? What? It's that Hall of Fame.

00:33:54 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 2:

That's what it is. That's what it is. You're going to write to that head.

00:33:59 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 3:

You think you're too good, boy?

00:34:03 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 2:

You think you're too good? No, no, no. Come on. Are you going to do that thing where we're not allowed to look you in the eye

00:34:17 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 1:

after you actually get inducted in the studio?

00:34:19 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm thinking about it. I think I might want my own studio after this is all said and done. Hey, Sean, a friend of yours is a friend of mine. What's going on? How are you doing, Jamie?

00:34:29 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. I was just calling in to say that I don't answer any calls anymore because I've been stuck on the phone for an hour or two far too many times. People can talk way too much.

00:34:40 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 2:

I have to be careful because if I pick up Ann Pat's calls, I know it's a minimum of 40 minutes. Like, she's a 40 call. Like, it's always 40 minutes at least.

00:34:50 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 1:

And when you see that she's calling, and I have a few people in my life like that too, I'm always like, please let this be a butt tile. Please let this be a butt tile.

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

You answer those calls when you're in the car.

00:35:00 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

But I will tell you this, I missed a couple of Pat's calls and I realized I got to stop doing that because you never know when that call is going to be your last. And I've had that before where a friend tried to call you and then you realized they needed something or they weren't well. What's up, Devin? How you doing?

00:35:18 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time long time. Hey, Devin's on the phone! So, Mojo, your phone is for your convenience. Thank you. Not theirs. No, don't do that.

00:35:32 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 3:

No, Devin, no. Why have you been waiting this long to call?

00:35:36 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 5:

You have absolutely no obligation to respond, and if they can't handle that, that is a them thing. No, Devin, stop it.

00:35:43 - 00:35:51 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. He gave up that power when he gave them his number. Come on. When you give someone your number, you have to expect that they're going to call you.

00:35:51 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Devin says that, but hold on, Devin. Julia says something different. Julia, you're on with Devin. What did you want to say?

00:35:58 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 6:

First time, short time. Hey, Julia's on the phone.

00:36:02 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 3:

Welcome to our family. What's going on, Julia?

00:36:05 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 6:

Are you from Australia? Friends are important, and if they take a few minutes out of their day to call you, you probably should take a few minutes out of your day to call them back.

00:36:14 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Let me see if my friend Devin's still on the phone here. Devin, what are your thoughts on what Julia just said?

00:36:21 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 5:

A text is fine.

00:36:23 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Leave a message, Julia. I'm at least saying to them, leave something. Give me at least a notification. You know?

00:36:30 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 6:

Well, if they're important enough, I mean, you should call them.

00:36:33 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, but I don't know it's important because I just got a missed call. I didn't think it was that important. They didn't leave me a message.

00:36:40 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 5:

They didn't leave me a message. It ain't important enough.

00:36:43 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hold on a second. Sean's on the phone. Sean, what's up, Sean?

00:36:47 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 4:

I want to argue with Devin. Where he at?

00:36:51 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 3:

He's right here. Devin Sean. Meet Sean.

00:36:55 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Devin? What's up, Sean? Man, you must be one of them guys, too, that don't like... Look, look. Check this out. When you give your phone number to somebody and they call you, it must be something, bro. It's got to be something, bro. You got to return that call, man. I don't care who it is. Devin? Devin.

00:37:18 - 00:37:23 | Speaker 3:

Point counterpoint. Yeah, where'd he go? Where'd he go? He left the call.

00:37:24 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

Call us, Texas. Find us on social media at Mojo in the Morning. It's not hard to reach out to us. And if you really loved us, you join the show now. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:35 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Kev got a brand new car. Did you see his new car?

00:37:39 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That car is sick. Mr. Mustang. Shout out Steve Gabara. Great people at Zoff Ford. The Mustang came through. Man. Oh, man.

00:37:46 - 00:37:49 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. I need to. Where is it? Oh, here you go. Here you go. You ready?

00:37:49 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 2:

It's a Mustang Sally.

00:37:50 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 3:

I got it. I'm going to play that for you.

00:37:53 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 2:

You playing that song?

00:37:53 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. It's the only Mustang song that I know.

00:37:57 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 2:

Let's go.

00:37:58 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 4:

Mustang Sally.

00:38:00 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Mustang Sally. That boy, a goer, too, man. I never had a fast car like that. You know, you see people in traffic dipping in and out. Now I'm one of those people. It's a nice vehicle.

00:38:08 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 4:

You going to take care of this car? Oh, for sure. You going to be a hoarder like you are in your Jeep?

00:38:11 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 2:

I still got my Jeep, so we going to keep all the stuff in this Jeep and not put anything in this one.

00:38:16 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 3:

Over, under on how many tickets this guy gets a month?

00:38:19 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 2:

None.

00:38:20 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

Huh?

00:38:20 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 2:

I say you get a ticket a month. You know what's crazy? A few days ago, or whenever we did it, we talked about Sam getting her first car. Yes, my stepdaughter. And people who get in accidents. So I'm posting the picture that I posted. I'm in the car. I'm waiting. I'm doing this. I'm doing that. It takes me about 30 minutes with everything that I'm doing. I'm taking my time. The moment I try to pull off a huge F-150 came. I was like, oh, my God. But speaking of potential accidents and new cars, I want to talk about Mojo for a second. We all know Mojo. Big shout out to Gordon Chevrolet. He has a beautiful, what you got?

00:38:54 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 3:

I got a Tahoe.

00:38:55 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 2:

Beautiful Tahoe. He's talked about it a lot, right? This beautiful car. Interior is amazing. Exterior color is something. It's completely different from what he's used to.

00:39:03 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Where are you going with this?

00:39:05 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 2:

You'll see. I thought we were talking about your Zod Ford Mustang. No, we're talking about your car. Big shout out to Steve McBride. Mustang. So we in the car, right? And shout out to Mojo because he drove me out to Holley in order to pick up the car. Wow. Okay. This is the first time I'm getting in his vehicle. It's beautiful, right? And one of the things that Mojo has always said about this car is its ability to self-drive. Yes. So we're on the highway. It's got super cruise. Super cruise. So we're super cruising. He's like, look at the wheel. This is how I can tell. It lights up green or something like when it's in the right. Is this scary? I've never been in a self-driving car. It can get scary. And it got scary because if you trust these self-driving cars and something happens, what do you do? We're in the car. Everything is going perfectly fine. The car can switch lanes. It can do all of this stuff. But it can't tell you if one of those yellow and white construction things is coming in the way when the lane is closing. And we almost ran into that junk.

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't detect that?

00:40:01 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 1:

No, it says construction zone. Also, they're orange and white, but okay, keep going. I say yellow? Yeah.

00:40:06 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay, real quick, real quick, let me say something. All I saw was dead. If you're one of the people that has designed this thing, you have to call us up because there was, I've never had an issue at all with this thing. I drive every morning and every afternoon when I'm going to and from the radio station. I am on the lodge and this thing is driving itself. And I'm just sitting back like I'm in an Uber. Man, this is the greatest thing ever. I'm like, where are the mints? and um it has never had an issue the one-time cab's in it we're driving down uh 75 towards holly and zott ford and we're driving all of a sudden right before dixie highway there's like this construction stuff that comes up and i'm going i don't think it's gonna turn i don't know i'm like are we are we gonna move over like are we gonna switch lanes i'm like looking at this thing going it's never done this before it's never done this before and i'm like and i'm showing this thing off to kevin like i am actually trying to be like mr i'm so proud like i should be the spokesperson for general motors and the super cruise thing because i am like the biggest fan of this thing it didn't turn so i had to like quickly grab the wheel you have no idea i'm i'm look i'm

00:41:12 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 2:

looking at him and i'm looking at the car i'm like is this thing gonna move over i almost had an

00:41:17 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 3:

autonomous lawsuit on my hands i was like i was like oh my god and kevin was gonna be there to

00:41:22 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 2:

witness we were so close to running these things over and the car did not book is anybody listening

00:41:28 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 3:

that drives a car that drives itself like a tesla or i know ford has this too by the way steve because stevie g was telling me that they have it i forget what they call it in the fords but um it will on the highway it drives itself but i know that the teslas drive purely itself if you have the self

00:41:43 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 1:

driving i have been in a cyber truck i have been in a cyber truck and joey zago from the carpet guys yes remember he he took smith because smith wanted to be in a cybertruck i do remember that and it did he self-driving i think he's he did for a second it's honestly so i think it's a great

00:41:57 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 3:

technology because it's way better than me driving but this thing was it was kind of freaky gotta be alert hold on a second angie wants to ask a question about your mustang what's up angie

00:42:08 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 5:

yes hi good morning guys kev you should name your car sexy red wow i'm not mad at that what do you

00:42:17 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

Do people name their car? Do you actually name cars? I've never named mom. Do you have a name for your car, Angie?

00:42:24 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Long story. I have a town and country, and since I'm half Mexican, half Colombian, and she's white, I named her Griselda.

00:42:36 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 4:

That's so good.

00:42:38 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 1:

That's so good.

00:42:40 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

Half Mexican, Colombian. She probably thick.

00:42:43 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 1:

You've never named your car?

00:42:45 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 3:

Never. No, I've never done that. Is that a normal thing to do?

00:42:49 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

I think people do.

00:42:49 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 3:

People name their car a lot. Really?

00:42:51 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I had an old Toyota Celica when I was in high school. I remember that. And I named it Tom Celica. Tom Celica. So we would call it Tommy Celica. Yeah.

00:43:02 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Tom Celica was such an icon that they're doing at the Tigers game. I think next week they're doing Tom Celica Day. Oh, really? They want everybody to dress up like Tom Celica, put mustaches on and wear the Tigers hats. and they're doing it for a charity. So text her here, text and says, I'll get in trouble if I come on, but I'm one of the people working on the autonomous for one of the big three. And I have to tell you, we have more lawsuits on our hands from issues like this.

00:43:30 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. You don't ever zone out that much, right? Like you're not supposed to take a nap or watch a show and not pay attention.

00:43:36 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 3:

So there's two safety features on this Tahoe that I think has saved me a lot. Number one is the eye feature because if you don't have your eyes on there, it basically comes. it beeps at you and it vibrates really crazy like eyes on the road that's one number two when i'm backing up and if i'm backing up and i'm going fast enough where if i don't stop quickly i'm gonna hit something it auto stops me and so it auto stops me like you hit something but it just basically slams like when i'm pulling out of my garage in the morning like a couple times it's that is honestly i don't care what safety features you put on a car i would have banged into like five or six things in my uh driveway what's up how you doing cam hi i just wanted to

00:44:17 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 4:

welcome kev to the mustang family i'm in a 2018 eco booth okay where are we meeting it um look you need to come down to mustang alley dream cruise weekend that's my birthday weekend too

00:44:32 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Wait, where's Mustang Alley on Woodward there?

00:44:37 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 4:

Dream Cruise between Woodward and, oh, God.

00:44:43 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy.

00:44:44 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 4:

Between Woodward and.

00:44:47 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Here, we'll Google it. Or you send it to us. Text it to us, Kim.

00:44:51 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we'll text it to you. I love it. Yeah, and just welcome, look, Mustang Gang, Road Crown. Mustang Gang. Yes, we are the Mustang, Motor City Mustang. Who's cooler, the Mustang gang or the people that drive Jeeps and do the Jeep wave to each other? Oh, the Mustangs, of course. They got a wave, though. You got anything that you do when you drive by a Mustang? We do. What do you do? We do. We give you the peace sign and two fingers. Do you? Okay. I'm learning. With the tongue in the middle or no? You don't get dirty. That's only at night. What's going on, Darla? How you doing?

00:45:29 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 6:

I'm fine. How are you? Good morning.

00:45:30 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's happening?

00:45:32 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 6:

So, you know, I was listening to you. I used to be a test driver for several companies that tested the self-driving cars, electric vehicles. That vehicle was supposed to pick up on the construction barrier, but it didn't. And you really should report that. That's a glitch.

00:45:51 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 4:

That's actually interesting. I should. Maybe what I do, do I jump on OnStar or something and tell them?

00:45:56 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 6:

You can tell OnStar, but it needs to be reported. If it's a GM vehicle, you need to report that.

00:46:01 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Yeah. No, that's good. It was interesting because there was plenty of notice that there was construction there. And normally it does it for me on certain streets. But what's up? Oh, God. This name. How do I pronounce this? Do it.

00:46:16 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 7:

It's Artinas.

00:46:19 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 4:

Artinas? Artinas.

00:46:20 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 5:

Artinas, yeah.

00:46:21 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Hi, Artinas.

00:46:24 - 00:46:24 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:46:24 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 5:

My cousin, he has a Tesla, and he literally, like, would drive home from work and go to sleep while his car is driving him home.

00:46:33 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 4:

How does he do that? Because your eyes have to be open, don't they?

00:46:36 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I don't think it does in a Tesla. In a Tesla, it just drives itself, so it just, like, takes the wheel.

00:46:42 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 4:

Jesus, take the wheel. I mean, wouldn't it be nice to take a little nap while you're driving? Would you feel safe doing that?

00:46:50 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 5:

No, no. No way. I definitely would. I wouldn't feel safe. have a heart of that yeah i wouldn't feel safe but i could go to sleep yeah i feel like that's

00:46:58 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

how it's intended to be though yeah like in a perfect world eventually yeah not yet too soon

00:47:04 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 7:

hey cheryl what's going on hey so um you ever have a lemon right well we uh had a large red mercury mountaineer and we had to name her peg bundy because every time we got paid that vehicle needed to have something repaired on it. Oh, no.

00:47:24 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 4:

Peg Bundy. That's actually a funny name. That's great. Chris, this is funny. Chris, what did you name your car?

00:47:33 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 5:

My car's name is Hemorrhoid.

00:47:35 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Why Hemorrhoid?

00:47:37 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 5:

It's busted right now. It's a pain in my... It's so sore. It's so sore.

00:47:47 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. I'm sorry. We got to try to see what we can do and help you out. See if you can go visit one of the people that we represent. I got Gordon Chevrolet. Kev's got Zot Ford. Shannon's got Moran Automotive. So there's plenty of opportunity.

We're going to do the dirty right now. Channel 955, 104.5 SNX and 92.5 KISS FM. Dirty.

00:50:24 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 4:

So Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband and Reba McIntyre's former stepson has died after a private battle with cancer. I heard this morning that he had been battling melanoma specifically for the past three years, which is a very aggressive form of skin cancer. I actually had a friend pass away from melanoma, but he was just 48 years old. He was married to Kelly from 2013 to 2022. They had two kids together. he had two kids from a previous marriage and their divorce, and actually, I do have a Kelly Clarkson clip on there, Mojo. Their divorce was not an easy one. It took a long time, and I want to say it was fairly contentious.

00:51:09 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 5:

You'd never want your kid in this relationship. I would want better for them. I want better for my ex. I want better for us all. I just want them to grow up in a, you know, not a a toxic unhealthy environment you know grief is such a weird thing because i feel like roller

00:51:26 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

coaster right kelly had announced yesterday on social media or excuse me wednesday on social media that she was canceling the remainder of her august concerts as part of her vegas residency and she referenced the fact that her ex was ill and she needed to be there for their kids

00:51:40 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 2:

man it's uh it's very sad i mean you know prayers obviously to uh to those kids you know losing a dad like that and they're young it makes you it makes you really you know realize how uh in life you know things are fleeting 48 years old yeah very very uh sad situation after what was the worst you know probably divorce that we've heard celebrity wise in a while um but hopefully uh you know there's some peace there you know yeah she don't have to uh i guess she doesn't have to pay

00:52:11 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 3:

of child support anymore, right? Or how does that work? That's what you're... I'm just Googling stuff. I'm just wondering. She was paying $45,000 a month per child.

00:52:23 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 2:

I love that you Google as I go through these stories. Do you think Kelly's happy that he's dead?

00:52:27 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm sure two things can be true. I'm sure she's not happy that he's dead because, you know, that's the father of her children, but $50,000 in the bank every month.

00:52:36 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 4:

So, did Mariah Carey throw some subtle shade at Katy Perry? I think so. She's making headlines this morning with her reaction to being told, I guess she didn't know that Katy Perry had gone into space on that Blue Origin flight. Wow.

00:52:51 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 1:

All right, Katy. She was proper in space. I'm not mad at her. That's pretty amazing. Yeah. I mean, she hasn't stopped talking about it since, but it happened. Would you do it? I think I've done enough.

00:53:04 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't need to do that. everybody's drawing comparisons to her famous i don't know her comment that was like a year or two ago but and uh another chuck e cheese story this is a great one a woman got trapped inside one of the arcade games at a chuck e cheese in burbank california it's the snow day game they literally had to call the fire department and bring in like four different firefighters to try to free her from this thing. It took them 20 minutes

00:53:41 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 2:

to get her out.

00:53:46 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 4:

Google it because you have to see it. It's obviously very visual. As an adult,

00:53:50 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 2:

why is she playing that game? Because there's no kids that they say were around her at the time. Let her have some fun. And she's sticking her hand in there trying to steal something, it looks like. This is one of those ones where she tries to sue them for this happening. They can go and say, well, what were you doing? Were you trying to steal from the game?

00:54:09 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 4:

And also, do you really need tickets or points that bad? Like, go get a pixie stick at five below. It's going to cost you 50 cents, and you don't have to sit there and spend 2,000 tickets on it.

00:54:19 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 2:

My favorite are the stories where the little kid gets stuck inside of the machine. The claw machines. Yeah.

00:54:25 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 4:

Which I could never figure out.

00:54:26 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 2:

It's big enough where a little kid could kind of squeeze their way through there. And so they've gotten stuck a few times when they've had to get them out. These firefighters, by the way, get a phone call that they're going to the Chuck E. Cheese. You know they're loving every minute of this one. They're like, wait, where?

00:54:41 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 4:

For everything you missed from the week, catch up on the dirties by searching Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:55:03 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 2:

Heck yeah! No way! Yeah.

00:55:06 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 3:

00:56:07 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 2:

I'll be leaving Monday, but I do listen to you guys wherever I go.

00:56:19 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 4:

Where are you going for work? I got to go to the East Coast to do some deliveries. Okay, can you grab me a keychain?

00:56:27 - 00:56:27 | Unknown:

Keychain.

00:56:28 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 4:

From where? Wherever keychains are sold.

00:56:31 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 3:

Are you a keychain collector?

00:56:32 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 4:

Is that what you do for a living? I kind of like a, I prefer refrigerator magnets. But I'll take a keychain.

00:56:38 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 3:

Hold on one second. He's talking out of his urs right now. So hold on one second, okay? Hold on, Robin. All right. Chris Brown tickets. And you say that this show was great last night.

00:56:51 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, 20 years. This man sings. This man dances. He does not take any moments off. He performs for over two and a half hours.

00:57:01 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 3:

We're giving away your chance to go to the sold-out show tonight at Ford Field coming up at 8.30. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. We were talking about, you know, things with the phone and stuff. Has Shannon showed you all of the robocalls or sales calls that she's been getting lately?

00:57:17 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 1:

My phone goes off. You can hear it. My phone rings the entire show, and it's been like, look at this. Look at this, you guys. why do you have holy cow i get at upwards of like between 80 and 100 calls a day but why is it just recently that it's gotten crazy because so i talked about how wes and i were looking we're thinking about moving and we went to look at a house this week and for whatever reason i've actually never heard of people doing this but to even get a showing for this particular home that we were interested in you had to have a pre you had to have a pre-approval letter which we didn't have so we had to like go through that process and the guy who was doing it for us even said don't put your real phone number on anything just put 555-555-5 whatever because or else exactly what's happening to me is happening so I don't know how it's happening to me but it is driving me crazy and normally I just let the call go to voicemail and nobody ever leaves a voicemail um but i was in the car yesterday and it was just i i was in a mood and i think i was channeling misfit victor and i started answering some of the calls as costco bakery hello this is nicole from roses bloom.com i mean i did them all but the best was i i was like oh i'm really gonna like toy with somebody one of my really good friends works for the birmingham police department So I answered the phone call, Birmingham Police Department, and then I used her name, like officer, I don't want to say her name, but, and the guy on the other end was like, is this Shannon? And I was like, no, you called the Birmingham Police Department. And I'm like, you know, he's going back and forth. No, Shannon, and, you know, said my last name. And so I am not budging. And finally he gets so pissed off and he's like, you know, you have some nerve doing this.

00:59:13 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 3:

Was he still a sales caller or is it somebody that was talking to you? The guy that was screaming at you?

00:59:17 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 1:

No, it was, like, it was from one of these mortgage lending.

00:59:21 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so they know your name when you're doing it.

00:59:24 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 1:

And, again, I don't know enough about this to know how they've gotten all of my information so quickly, but they did.

00:59:31 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 3:

That's why.

00:59:32 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 1:

And he said my name. Like, he knew my first and last name.

00:59:35 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 3:

Victor has, and I don't, I haven't talked to Victor in a long time. I mean, with, I've had some family stuff and things going on, and I think he's been busy. Can we call Victor up?

00:59:45 - 01:00:05 | Speaker 1:

Victor does this, just so you know that reference while you're calling him, Lydia. He will do this with any telemarketer that calls him. He will either pretend to be somebody else or he will play a game and be so annoying to them and see how long. he can keep them on the phone when we call victor can we like three-way in one of these numbers i

01:00:05 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 4:

thought about i honestly got yesterday thought about screen chatting some of these numbers and

01:00:11 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 2:

just saying have at it have fun my favorite victor thing to do is when somebody calls and does these things like where they do the telemarketing calls and he tells them they say what is your name and And he goes, Tony Travato.

01:00:25 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 1:

He does not do that.

01:00:27 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 2:

And he gives our boss his name. And then they'll like, how do you spell that? And he'll give them all the details. I don't even, I never pick up these calls. Ever. I don't pick, I mean, obviously I don't pick up calls. I don't pick up calls from friends. But I don't pick up anything that I don't have saved in my phone anymore. Same, that's how I am. And it's kind of bad that that's the case because you can't do it anymore because there's so many of them that come through.

01:00:52 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 1:

But that's why I think that particular point emphasizes that if it's that important, they'll leave a voicemail. If you're getting random numbers and they're not leaving voicemails. Not one of these calls have left a voicemail.

01:01:03 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 2:

So what is the deal with, like, some people say that there's certain apps that are good. Like if you can find, like, an app that will stop out all the robocalls. But I've never been able to do it. I got one app or one service, and it was horrible. it was horrible i wouldn't get it like my family couldn't even call me it kept so many phone numbers yeah so i ended up having to cancel it but what's up amy how you doing hi good morning

01:01:29 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 4:

guys this is how this is this is how it works when you're looking for you know whether you get any sort of loan once you get your credit pulse right companies pay for those lists okay who who just you know applied for a mortgage somewhere and then they crack really i thought that i i kind of had an inkling that it had something to do with my credit and obviously

01:01:50 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 2:

my phone number is you know so wait so so the is it the man they find us every time yeah so that whole thing that shannon says when people say how did you get my number and somebody must have you know like when you say that stuff that's actually a true thing that's coming back at you right can

01:02:08 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 1:

you opt out anyway i don't know i mean i guess it's not like uh you know instagram when you download an app and it says share your stuff and it says never share or... Yeah. I always click

01:02:19 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 4:

all that. It doesn't matter.

01:02:21 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Victor, good morning. Good morning. When did you get an accent? Where did that thing come from?

01:02:31 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 3:

This is Rodney. I'm calling from Medicaid.

01:02:36 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 4:

Rodney. That's what he

01:02:37 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 3:

always sounds like. Dude, are you proud of me? I am proud of you, but I mean, it The thing is, just by answering or talking, period, they're just going to hit – I used to do telemarketing a long time ago. You would just hit F4, F2, and it would just reschedule you for somebody to call you.

01:02:58 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It's asinine.

01:03:01 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 3:

Apple is supposed to, with the next update, is supposed to release a thing on there that's almost like a call spam blocker where if you don't know the number, they're going to say, hi, this person has this feature. Say your name, and then it will call you, and they'll say, so-and-so is calling. Do you want to answer this call or not? Or it will completely filter the call out. But I mean, is that really saving you anything or because then they're all just going to say their name is because because, no, the telemarketers are never going to say that. And I had a I have to remember what the app is. It's called a robo killer or something like that. We'll call her.

01:03:44 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 2:

That's the one I had. And it kept Chelsea from calling me. Or at least that's what she said.

01:03:49 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

But that's because you've probably put her number on block or something like that. I had that and I got I got rid of it because my life became so boring. you know without these guys it's just it's just amazing well i got a whole list for you a couple

01:04:04 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

hundred yeah he sits there there are times because his wife tina will work on the weekends at night sometimes and victor will be home with the kids he has a field day grabbing calls all day the best

01:04:17 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

is the call the car warranty extenders they're fantastic because i get them and i'm like yeah Oh, I definitely want to, you know, get this warranty on a car that I haven't had in eight years. And then you get them, and then you start asking about the packages, and I want the best one, and they get all, they're like, you can hear them salivating because they're excited that they're going to, and then they, I got to transfer you to my online supervisor. Just hold on, sir, and then you get transferred to my online supervisor, and you're just like, no, I never said any of that. I'm just about to fire. Yeah. You know, they're thinking they're making this big sale and everything, and you just get to supervise. And they're like, nope, I'm never doing it. I'm not doing it. Oh, my God. Hold on.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 5:

Terri, what's up, Terri? You're on with us this morning. What's going on?

01:05:03 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning.

01:05:04 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

01:05:06 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 2:

How's it going?

01:05:06 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 5:

It's going good. We're having just a little conversation here with some guy who's in India trying to sell us stuff. His name is Victor. What's going on?

01:05:16 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 2:

So when they call, I will start to answer them in Arabic.

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 5:

You'll answer them in Arabic?

01:05:23 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

I do. I ask them how they're doing, how the weather is. So good.

01:05:28 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 5:

And if they don't know the language, they don't know what they're doing, right?

01:05:32 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, they like, uh, uh, Terry, uh, Terry, Terry, uh, and I'm like, They don't like it.

01:05:45 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 7:

Oh my God.

01:05:47 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 5:

Do you understand that the love of your life is on the line with us? Victor, this might be the woman that you should be with her. Can you imagine the two of you together? You guys would be on each end of the couch having fun with people calling you.

01:06:03 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

01:06:06 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 6:

You know, the person would call her and then hang up and then immediately call me.

01:06:10 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

01:06:12 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Scott? Hi.

01:06:14 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 6:

Hey. So when I get calls, very similar, I answer with sumi masi? What is that? Who is he? Japanese. Oh, Japanese.

01:06:25 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 5:

Can you say that on the air?

01:06:30 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 7:

It's nothing vulgar.

01:06:32 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's funny. Joey. Hold on. Let me answer some calls. Let me. Oh, sorry. I'm sorry. Seriously. Sorry. Excuse me, sir.

01:06:43 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to save you some money on Medicare.

01:06:45 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Joey? Hi, Joey. Hey, how are you guys? Good. What's going on?

01:06:51 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 3:

So I actually have that new update from Apple that Victor's talking about. Really?

01:06:55 - 01:06:56 | Unknown:

Does it work?

01:06:57 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it works amazing. So I signed up for a service company to do fertilizer on my lawn, and they do nothing but call me three, four times a day. And then once I got the update, a little notification pops up my phone, almost like a voicemail. It'll say the number, and it'll dictate what they're saying when they answer it. And you can click the client. And if you don't have your phone on or if it's just sitting on the counter or something, it doesn't, like, buzz your phone. Oh, okay. See, to me, though, it's almost just as annoying because it's still notifications popping up on my phone.

01:07:32 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 5:

But how many of them actually leave the message and do that?

01:07:38 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 3:

The real telemarketers don't. The real people that call start to dictate. I've had people from work that I haven't had their number saved dictate, and then I can pick it up from there.

01:07:47 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. We'll try that. Hopefully that turns out to be a good feature now for the iPhone. Mike, what's going on, Mike?

01:07:56 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 4:

Hey, a lot of times what I do, I'll call them and I put them on conference call and they'll be spilling to each other about what they're trying to do. And I had one time I had 16 of them trying to talk to each other. It was hilarious. You got 16 of them calling together. That's crazy. It was funny because the one guy caught on and I would keep on calling back and I would get somebody else, so they'd keep on calling, but I had about four or five of them staying on there laughing at them because they would finally call it on that I was doing that to them. So they were starting to play along with it, too. It was funny.

01:08:30 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 5:

I had 16. How is it that you and Terry and Victor have all this time to do stuff like this? Are you a married guy, Mike?

01:08:39 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 4:

No, but I work outside for a living, so I have them on my phone, and I just keep on calling when I'm doing my job. Oh, my God. Just spraying lawns. Oh, my God. So they'll be talking to each other. I just put them on mute and don't even pay attention.

01:08:53 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 5:

Victor, you've done that before where you've conference them together. Have you ever had up to 16 before? That's amazing.

01:08:58 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 6:

No, no. I want to be this guy's new best friend.

01:09:02 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 7:

You got work to do, Victor.

01:09:06 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 5:

James, what's up? What's up, James?

01:09:09 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. First time long time. Hey, James.

01:09:12 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 5:

Welcome to Victor. Let Victor scream it. Victor, you go it. I can't sleep. I keep sleeping upstairs. James is on the phone. What's going on, James?

01:09:22 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 7:

I'm actually, I work for a mortgage lender. I've been, so I worked at Rocket Mortgage. Yeah. And now I work at Loan Depot. Okay. So I know exactly what you're going through.

01:09:33 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 5:

And now he's going to try to sell you.

01:09:35 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 7:

I already got some, buddy. It's your current interest rate. What's your, low enough for you, Bojo?

01:09:42 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 5:

Listen to that. This guy, I'm telling you.

01:09:44 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 7:

Um, no, you got to literally pick up the phone and tell them to stop calling. Otherwise they'll keep calling you.

01:09:51 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. But how do you do that to every single person?

01:09:54 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 7:

Well, a lot of times it's the same company. So there's normally like. Oh, that's interesting.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 2:

different companies following.

01:10:01 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's probably like four or five different companies. Okay. And you just literally tell them, take me off your list.

01:10:06 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:10:07 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 1:

That's very good advice. Thank you. Thank you.

01:10:09 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, try that and see if that works. That's good. Amber, what's up? It doesn't work.

01:10:12 - 01:10:13 | Unknown:

It doesn't work.

01:10:14 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't. What's up, Amber?

01:10:16 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I, for the past four years, answer, you are live on the Mojo in the Morning Show. They hang up immediately every time. Every time.

01:10:28 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Can I call in that show, too?

01:10:30 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. We love you, Amber. Hold on. Isabel is the person who teaches them her job is. What is your job, Isabel?

01:10:50 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 2:

So I'm a sales manager at a mortgage brokerage. And it's funny because I go up against chains at Lundipo all the time. Oh, really? so you know him well.

01:11:01 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 3:

Wait, and what do you teach?

01:11:03 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 2:

So I teach them how to make these calls. Like, how to make these sales calls. Oh, my God. To people.

01:11:09 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Man. What's your secret sauce? Like, where do you teach them?

01:11:13 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 2:

I try to make every one of them. I try to teach them how to make, like, you guys laugh. Like, when we call you. Like, if I can get a chuckle out of you, like, you're going to stay on the phone with me.

01:11:21 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 1:

Who even answers these phone calls, though?

01:11:25 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Everybody. It's, like, I have people calling saying they're from mortuaries, and I just switch it to, oh, so you're looking into commercial.

01:11:32 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Victor, why is this not what you do for a living? You should be one. Do you understand how much money you would make for these guys?

01:11:40 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 1:

No, I did this in high school. And it didn't work? I worked for a telemarketing company in high school, and we were taught, like, let's say Mojo, we called you, and you're like, you know, I can't afford this right now. My refrigerator just died. And I'd be like, oh, my God, my refrigerator died. And then you'd start talking about the refrigerator. Oh, my dog. I had to put my dog to sleep. What kind of dog was it? A Russell Terrier. You're not going to believe this, but I just put my Russell Terrier to sleep like two months ago. And that's all you had to do. That's all you had to do. And next thing you know, they're on the phone with you for like 25 minutes. You have hemorrhoids? I have hemorrhoids. Oh, my God. It's just unbelievable.

01:12:18 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 3:

Isabel, we got to get Victor a job with you guys. This guy, I'm telling you, would clean up doing this. He would kill it. Or at the very least, Victor, this is how we bring back phone scams. We have you do it, taping these people. What do you think? Here we go. Let's go. I'm ready to do this. And it's brought to you by, the phone scam today is brought to you by, Isabel, what's the company that we got here on the phone?

01:12:40 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 2:

I prefer not to say.

01:12:42 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

We gave you a little plug for the business there. All right. All right, we'll talk to you later.

01:12:48 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Hey, real quick, for these charities, like you'll get these Police Officers Association or whatever, just do yourself a favor. listen to their spiel and then ask them the categories and percentages by law they have to tell you so if you donate a hundred dollars you say what percentage is going to go to the charity 90 percent of the time they get four to five percent of that money the rest of the money goes to pay the employees the company and everything else wow so don't ever donate any money i don't care if they tell you this is directly the company they only get like four to five percent of the hundred dollars or ten dollars or whatever that you send so ask them that and they have to tell you categories and percentages you have to by law they have to tell you they'll always either tell you or hang up right away and they won't call you back wow that's amazing thanks rodney how did you

01:13:38 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 3:

know this stuff is that would you see that on tiktok no no i did this in high school i worked

01:13:42 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 1:

for a company and we used to call people all the time wow all the time and and so they say what percentage goes to it click i'd hang up i'm like i'm not telling the veterans to get three

01:13:53 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 3:

01:14:22 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 3:

country now for like five or six weeks and here's an interesting thing that song they do not call the song of summer the wall street journal put out what the song of summer is and says summer 2025 there is no song of summer and they're doing it because they said that that song has too much religious connotation to it i think that's wrong they they think that that song is not the song of summer they think shibuzi for the second summer in a row is the song of summer you can't

01:14:51 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

be two summers in a row and also this is the song of summer i don't think it's the song of summer

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

only because how we defined or how we have defined song

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 2:

the summer is it has to have like a party

01:15:02 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 4:

vibe to it. Oh, okay. That's the only reason

01:15:04 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 2:

I would say it's the biggest song for sure. I think that song's got some fun to it, though. You're not playing that inspiration. It's got a raft week or wherever y'all going this weekend. Raft off, yeah. By the way, here's a little tidbit for you. Here's a little my Casey Kasem, I'm Casey Kasem, or Ryan Seacrest. That song was performed at Lollapalooza last week. We posted, Bianca and Lydia did, they posted the performance of luke combs with alex warren doing that song it went so viral it forced those guys to release that it's crazy isn't that amazing so you are the reason why alex warren

01:15:41 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 1:

is making more money yeah lydia said it to me last night and she's like look what happened because we were talking about that's amazing we needed this version how many views like how viral did that go like 8.4 million right now on tiktok yeah mine did 2.1 and the shows did 8.9 right i think it's like 8.4 right now but there's like 63 000 shares alone on it which is crazy uh wow that is crazy it was the only video on there like i'm trying to look at other videos of that performance and it's just like alex warren luke holmes posting it i don't really

01:16:10 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 2:

see other accounts posting um coming up here in just a little bit i got to tell you guys the story or actually i'm going to have her tell it my sister is going to come on the air with us my sister witnessed literally the worst thing in the world during one of the most holy things ever My sister does morning walks, and when she does her morning walk, she prays the rosary. If you're Catholic, you know the rosary, right? You sit there and do a bajillion Hail Marys and Our Fathers. And she witnessed something extremely offensive happen during her walk, like the worst timing ever. So I'm going to have her talk about that in a second. But first, I want to give you a chance to win tickets to go see Chris Brown tonight. a chance to go to the concert that last night was sold out and everybody went crazy for. Two nights. It's, what is it, Breezy Bowl happening? Breezy Bowl. At Ford Field, 844-MOJO-LIVE. 95th caller, 844-665-6548. Good luck. Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon's going to do the dirty. We'll see what's trending this hour. What do you got, Shannon?

01:17:15 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 4:

It was totally a pretty woman moment, if you have seen that movie with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. Jennifer Lopez refused entry into a Chanel store in Turkey. She was out and about shopping at this very upscale mall in Istanbul. Decided she wanted to look at handbags at the Chanel store. Goes up to the entrance of the store and a security guard at the door of the boutique said she could not enter. What was the reason why? I think a lot of at a lot of these upscale boutiques, especially overseas, you have to have an appointment and maybe she didn't have an appointment. I don't know what the situation was. Did not face her. She said, OK, no problem. Very calmly walked away without reaction. And I guess later the store's employees realized it was the Jennifer Lopez who was trying to come in and do some shopping. They reached out to her with an invitation to come back. She declined and instead spent her time and money, I'm told, totaling tens of thousands of dollars at neighboring designer boutiques like Celine and Balmain and Louis Vuitton.

01:18:27 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 2:

What's that line from Julia Roberts? It's like, you will regret.

01:18:30 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 4:

Big mistake.

01:18:31 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 2:

It's a big mistake. Yeah, there it is. Yeah. Ever see that movie at all? No. Oh, you gotta see it. It's a great movie. It's like the clips. It's a great movie. She got the big hair in it. Yeah. Yeah.

01:18:39 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 4:

Selena Gomez going way back Talking about how she and Taylor Swift Ended up becoming besties

01:18:46 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

How did you guys meet?

01:18:48 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Taylor and I dated the Jonas Brothers We dated I dated Nick and she dated Joe And everything's like, you know, that's cute We were like young We all know and love each other now And it's so cute We didn't know what we were doing But, yeah, she and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other.

01:19:18 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when she's doing this interview, if you listen to more of it, she sounds like she has no interest in doing the interview.

01:19:24 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the whole thing.

01:19:25 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 2:

She sounds so like.

01:19:26 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 4:

But that is also, she doesn't ever have a lot of excitement. There's not a lot of excitement there. But Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy tearing into country singer Zach Pryan for his new girlfriend's resemblance to his ex, Brianna Chicken Fry. Have you guys seen these girls side by side? I'm about to do it. It's uncanny. They could be twins. So on Portnoy's podcast, Unnamed Show, he called it insane how much Zach Pryan's new girlfriend, her name Samantha Leonard, looks like Brianna Chicken Fry. And he said Zach must have built Brianna 2.0 in the lab. And he just said, this is psychopath level dating to pick somebody who looks exactly like your ex. What's her name? Samantha what? Leonard. Leonard. Maybe he just has a type. That's his type probably. You know what I mean? Yeah. And lastly, medical experts have identified a surprisingly strong indicator of how long you are going to live. The size of your calves. A larger, more muscular calf correlates with better heart health, nutrition, mobility, and a lower risk of death. I'm good, you guys. I have humongle Murphy calves. So strong calf muscles mean you're staying active, which is linked to a lower risk of cardiovascular diseases. And your calves also help with blood circulation. So healthy circulation reduces risks like heart problems and blood clots. So if you've got big, thick calves, you're good. You're going to live a long life.

01:20:52 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 2:

I think that's a bunch of BS. They come up with something like this all the time.

01:20:57 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 4:

But I like this one because I was like, oh, yeah.

01:20:58 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 2:

I haven't seen it in a long time. So it fits you. That's true, Shannon. I'm sorry.

01:21:36 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you. My daughter's going to freak out. She just turned 16. Oh, what's her name? Katie. Well, my daughter is Paige.

01:21:45 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 2:

Sage? Paige. Paige. Happy birthday to Paige. Happy 16th birthday. You're going with your daughter to Chris Brown tonight. Congratulations.

01:21:55 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much, you guys. Who's you?

01:21:57 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 2:

We are so excited for you. We love you and have the best time. Enjoy that show. Kev and Bianca went last night and they said it was amazing. Yes, Paige is going to love it. I heard. Awesome. Thank you, guys. You're welcome. Hang on the phone for just one second. Maybe another pair before the end of the show. We might have an extra one our boss usually gets for us. So keep listening. I do have Tate McCray sold out tickets. It's Mojo in the morning. So I have a sister who you don't hear from much on the show because you always hear from Aunt Pat. Aunt Pat's always the one that will, you know, come on the air with us. But when I was younger, I lived with two of my sisters. They were the ones that really kind of got me through high school. We all lived in, like, the same apartment together. Like, that was, you know, kind of like where I lived when my mom died and my dad remarried. long story short she is a saint like she's legit like the holiest person i know maybe lydia might be slightly behind she prays all the time um and she is one of those people that will always be there for you her name is tracy and we call her sister uh theresa um but um she is on the phone with us right now because at this time of the morning she lives in chicago she goes for walks in Chicago every morning and when she's walking she prays the rosary while she's walking and she called me up just a day before last telling me that she was praying the rosary and she was saying prayers for some special intentions and witnessed the most vile thing ever two people having butt sex

01:23:35 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 4:

what did not expect you to say that

01:23:38 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 2:

she was having the rosary Tracy are you there Good morning, yeah. Are you on your walk right now?

01:23:50 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm on my second walk with the dog and my husband.

01:23:55 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, great. Okay, well, Tracy's husband is Scott, who is, like, the biggest fan of the Mojo in the Morning show. We love Scott. We love Scott so much. He was a fan. Yes. So, wait, were you with Scott and Oliver when you were doing this walk the other day, or were you by yourself?

01:24:13 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. So every morning I get up early because Scott, who has younger aunts and Alzheimer's, is asleep early in the morning because he's up and down all night. So this particular morning, he had been up a lot. So I was up especially early, and I thought, oh, I'll go just get my walk in. And I usually walk the lakefront. So to get to the lake, you have to walk under an underpass that goes under Lakeshore Drive. So you get on this underpass at certain streets in the city, and this particular one was at the Diversity Street underpass.

01:24:55 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

And it takes you right underneath Lakeshore Drive if you've never been to Chicago, the famous Lakeshore. are walking on that path and what do you witness so i um as i'm walking there's there's one area

01:25:11 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

of the underpass where there's stairs that you can go up to the street level so if you can imagine it's like you're on here you're underground and then there's a little area where you can actually escape to go upstairs and um i immediately always say i i listen to uh bishop robert baron and he has a podcast and he does the rosary so i say the rosary with them and as i'm listening and walking i turn and i see two two gay men having sex and the stairway of that underpass And they see me. And they see me.

01:25:52 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 2:

And what do they do when they see you?

01:25:53 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 3:

And they start kind of shouting. And I...

01:25:58 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 2:

Wait, shouting at you? Yeah. Are they shouting for you to go away? Or shouting for you to...

01:26:05 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they didn't stop, but they were just kind of... No, they liked that they had an audience.

01:26:10 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wait, so are they facing away from you? Like, can you see butt crack? Or, like, are they sideways?

01:26:17 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 3:

So they're sideways, so I'm walking straight, and if you can imagine, as you're walking, to your left side, there's a stairway, and one is kneeling. Okay.

01:26:34 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 2:

This is not a cop description, all right? All right, so did you tell them that you were praying the rosary at the time, or what did you do, just walk faster, or what did you do?

01:26:44 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, I started walking faster, and I felt like a target because I had my daughter's college t-shirt on, which, of course, is very loud-looking. And I thought, oh, should I take my t-shirt off in case they become a little funny? I'm like a target now on Lakeshore Drive.

01:27:06 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Here's the deal. You've got to be careful of taking your t-shirt off in front of them. They think you're going to join. Here's a question I want to ask. have you ever witnessed public sex? Have you ever like walked up on or drove up on people like doing it in public? Like that's pretty amazing. Never. Never. By the way, you have, you have got to become friends with Lydia. Cause you know that Lydia does, how often do you do the rosary Lydia?

01:27:34 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 4:

Three times a week.

01:27:35 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 2:

She does the rosary three times a week. Uh, Trace. So Lydia,

01:27:39 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 4:

do you listen to a podcast? Yeah. I like to listen to like the joyful mysteries and then I go on rotation based on the day that the Catholic Church, you know, sends out?

01:27:48 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:27:48 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Aunt Tracy.

01:27:49 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. So I just do Bishop Robert Baronson every day. I'm going to send you my list.

01:27:57 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 1:

Aunt Tracy. Yeah. Tracy. When you saw them, seeing you see them, did you, like, grab the rosary beads harder in your hand? No, no, no.

01:28:10 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Come on.

01:28:11 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 3:

But it took a lot to really get focused back on the road.

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

I can only imagine. Oh, my God. That's crazy.

01:28:21 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure there are a ton of police officers that have seen people having sex in cars.

01:28:24 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I bet you. By the way, can I tell you something, Tracy? And I was going to actually have you give her a lecture. But, you know, Bianca and Lydia from our show went to Lollapalooza. And Bianca would leave the hotel room in the middle of the night and just go wandering and thinking that Chicago was a very safe place just to kind of walk around, I wanted you to give her a talking to.

01:28:44 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know, I never – I live in the Gold Coast area, so it's a little bit further north of where Lala was. But I feel like you're always safe in the morning, but at nighttime, no.

01:29:03 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you got to be careful. Yeah, what is that?

01:29:06 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 3:

It was 5 a.m. It was the morning.

01:29:07 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 2:

It was 5 a.m. Yeah, she's at 5 a.m. walking around the streets.

01:29:11 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

But the interesting thing is I noticed a big difference when Lala was going on. I had to be very careful walking that early because, yeah, the people who are left out from the night before,

01:29:23 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 2:

they're usually interested. They're having sex on stairwells. By the way, and you've got to be careful of what you might step in. You know what I mean? Remnants of the night before. All right, Trace. Yeah. I love you, and I love Scott. And by the way, while I do have Tracy on the phone, I want to do this because I want to build awareness for this. Scott was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at how old?

01:29:48 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

54.

01:29:48 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

54 years old, diagnosed with Alzheimer's. And Tracy really wants to bring awareness to early onset Alzheimer's and how, you know, a lot of times people don't even.

01:30:00 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 1:

think they think it's an it's an older disease but it really truly is not in uh in just to build awareness for alzheimer's which is not sexy you know and doesn't have it doesn't have the cache that like cancer does or even heart disease does but just to bring awareness because it does affect families and we've experienced this seeing tracy and her daughters you know madeline and audrey um see their dad you know go from this big strong amazing man to basically a child right now so

01:30:34 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 4:

is he doing good right there and bring awareness to the alzheimer's drug discovery foundation the abdf more so than the alzheimer's association because if you look into charities the abdf has It's a 100% rating. That means every dollar that you give goes to research to find a cure for Alzheimer's. It's a fantastic organization. Yeah. It truly is. All the overhead is paid by the Estee Lauder family.

01:31:05 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's amazing.

01:31:06 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 4:

Every penny that they get goes to finding a cure. So I really believe that they will find a cure because I think they're so determined. And it's such a great organization. And I don't promote anything, but I think it's a worthwhile organization that's really doing tremendous things.

01:31:27 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. I love you, Trace. Go ahead.

01:31:31 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 4:

I love you, too. I'll talk to you later. Have a great day.

01:31:33 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 1:

No, go ahead. Finish your thought. Finish your thought.

01:31:35 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 4:

No, and I was going to say, you know, I mean, I never even knew about younger odds with Alzheimer's until Scott was diagnosed. and come to find that there are so many families out there who, you know, they're trying to raise their younger children, and, you know, and it's a real thing. You know, it's hard to think that you're preparing to send your kids off to college and you find out you have Alzheimer's, and so it's a quick for addressing disease.

01:32:07 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's horrible. All right, I love you. I love you.

01:32:11 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 4:

Love you, too.

01:32:11 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Watch out on the streets. Be careful. Look both ways. Is that not the craziest story ever? Could you imagine? Honestly, I would probably stop and watch. I don't know. I'm recording. What's up, Vicki? You there, Vicki?

01:32:28 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm here.

01:32:29 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? What happened to you? What did you witness?

01:32:33 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 5:

I was sitting at my favorite little corner, at my favorite little local pub, eating my dinner drinking my beer minding my own business and i look out of the corner of my eye and there's this couple sitting in the corner of the bar other corner and he leans over and proceeds to stick her mouth somewhere it shouldn't have been in a place and this is just in a bar this is crazy oh and i videotaped it as you should wait what do you do with the video once

01:33:06 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 1:

you get it show it to all my friends do you do you do like a do you do like a uh a technique uh you know evaluation like do we what did he grade it yeah you know we could have a movie night oh my god that's great vicky uh hold on stephanie's on with us what's up stephanie how you doing

01:33:33 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How's everybody? Good morning.

01:33:35 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good. We're talking about witnessing public sex.

01:33:39 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So I went to the Renaissance Festival with friends for the first time and last time that I would go. And had to go use the port-a-potty, which I didn't want to do. So I found one behind a tree, opened it, wasn't locked. And there was people in full garb just going at it. In a port-a-potty. That is so disgusting. In a port-a-potty. And I said, I will never return to this festival.

01:34:05 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 1:

Man, it was just one incident, though. You have to understand. Don't hold it against the Renaissance Festival. But do they talk to each other in, like, Renaissance lingo? You know what I mean? How do they talk?

01:34:16 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I just let that door close, and I was out of there. Hear ye, hear ye.

01:34:21 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 1:

Close the porta potty door. Pull down your breeches. You wench. You wench. T wants to be voices, guys. Initial T, what's happening? hello how you doing good where did you witness this well my husband plays handball

01:34:40 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 2:

so one morning it's nine o'clock in the morning we're going to palmer park to play handball and i'm planting some flowers for the players right there around the handball court so i plant my flowers and i decide to go for a walk the horse is over there so i'm going I'm going to look at the horses, and I'm walking peacefully, enjoying my thoughts and whatnot, and lo and behold, I look to the left, and I see a man on his all fours on the bench of the picnic table.

01:35:19 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 4:

With a horse?

01:35:20 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 2:

Right behind him, banging him. Oh, whoa.

01:35:23 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 4:

That's the former part. Oh, my. what did you do what did you do t did you scream

01:35:41 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

oh you're the best storyteller And then I just started shaking. All I did was focus on the horses, and I just kept walking through the horses like, oh, my God, these poor horses got to see this.

01:36:05 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:36:06 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 2:

Even the horses were laying down.

01:36:10 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 4:

They were sitting down.

01:36:12 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 2:

Why the hell did you see horses sitting down?

01:36:14 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 4:

The horses, even they got taken by this whole thing, huh?

01:36:18 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

They were even like, oh, no, I'm sitting down. Yes, broad daylight.

01:36:25 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 4:

Unbelievable.

01:36:29 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And then I went and told somebody what I saw, and they took it like, oh, yeah, that always happens.

01:36:36 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that always happens. That's Palmer Park. That's unbelievable. Palmer Park, home of the horses and home of the... Oh, my God, that's amazing. Hold on, one last one. This one's a sacrilege. This is like what happened with Tracy. Dominique, are you there?

01:36:52 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I'm here. I'm here.

01:36:54 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 4:

Dominique, please tell me this didn't happen. Where did you witness this?

01:36:58 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It was on a church. It was downtown on Woodward. And it was on some church steps.

01:37:05 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 4:

A couple? Wait, two people?

01:37:09 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Yep, yep, two people. I was like, I couldn't believe it. I was taking photographs.

01:37:16 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Where were you taking photographs of? The church?

01:37:18 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 5:

A senior. It was some senior photos. No, it was, we were right across the street from the church. Oh, you were taking, yeah. Yeah, and then I saw them, and I saw the senior, she was a senior. So, you know, I'm like, she's not supposed to be seeing all of this. But I wanted to take pictures, you know, just to take pictures. And so she was like, no, no, no, let's not take pictures. Let's just go, let's just go. But it was so weird seeing the two homeless people having sex.

01:37:45 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 4:

Wait, there were homeless people? They got to get into homeless people and they love. Where are they supposed to go, though? You know, they go to the house of God. Maybe not in a so public place. In the church stuff. Street sex. Dominique, did you end up taking pictures of this? And if so, did you show them to anybody?

01:38:01 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 5:

You know what? I didn't because the senior was like, no, no, no, no. And I was like, all right, I won't. But to this day, I regret it.

01:38:12 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 4:

You regret not taking pictures?

01:38:14 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 5:

Not taking those photos.

01:38:16 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 4:

What would you have done with the photos?

01:38:18 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 5:

You showed them. I would have sent them to you.

01:38:24 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 4:

Dominique, unbelievable. When she keeps saying seniors, I'm like, senior sisters.

01:38:28 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 5:

It's a high school senior. Yeah, high school pictures.

01:38:31 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

She takes pictures for kids for their senior photos. Yeah. Unbelievable. Man, all I'm going to tell you, Dominique, is that that is crazy. And, yeah, I probably would have taken the pictures. I would have done it.

01:38:44 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 5:

I see, boo, I wish I would have.

01:38:47 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, we'll talk to you later. Bye, Dominique.

01:38:50 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 5:

Bye. Thanks, Mojo. Bye.

01:38:52 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:39:05 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

A chance to go to the iHeartRadio Music Festival brought to you by Zot Ford in Holly, Michigan. and we're giving you a chance in less than 15 minutes we'll actually do it probably about 10 minutes from now all right it is mojo in the morning show uh how did you come up with this topic we where did this topic come into like the rich people topic yes so i was out in i don't know

01:39:32 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 1:

if it was gross point farms or just gross point period but it's a lot of rich people out there that's where we used to go and we really wanted like the full size chocolate candy bars during halloween and as a kid all of his people lived in gross point for those uh people that don't know

01:39:46 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

uh where that is maybe you're listening in another area google the gross points and google these homes these are homes that are spectacular they are um i would call them their mansions

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 1:

And there's a lot of historic people that have estates. Yes. There's a lot of people that have lived there that are famous. And the most famous people are probably like the Anita Bakers, the Aretha Franklins, the Miguel Cabreras. It's money over there, basically.

01:40:18 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 2:

It's a whole lot of zeros over there. For real?

01:40:20 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 1:

Art Van's estate is over there.

01:40:21 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's gorgeous.

01:40:22 - 01:40:23 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:40:23 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 2:

So I'm over there. I grocery shop out there. So that's where I was at. So I'm over there. I'm driving. Stop at a red light. And, of course, I'm looking at homes because you don't see this every day. So I'm looking. I'm like, wow, this is dope. Wow, this is dope. This is dope. I stop at a red light. I look to my left, and my question is, like, what's the most rich thing you've seen in somebody's house? I look to my left, and how the house is facing, it's a big-ass house. So it's not just facing, like, the front or facing the side. It's facing all directions. It's like a 360 house. So I look up, and it's a big-ass mirror up at the top, like a glass. you can see inside the house, they got a damn polar bear. Like a stuffed polar bear in the top of their house right in front of the window for everybody to see. I'm like, how rich do you? That's rich.

01:41:12 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 1:

You know you're rich when you can go to wherever you go to buy a polar bear and say, I want to buy a stuffed polar bear.

01:41:20 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 2:

Just to have it on display.

01:41:22 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 1:

Like that is like something, like you say to yourself, I want a polar bear. Or what do you do? Do you go and you see it and say to yourself, you know what? I think I like it. I'll buy it. They went on an Alaska excursion. Do you think it was a live polar bear when they met it and they killed it?

01:41:41 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 2:

They probably said, I want that one. Michael Jackson, I'll have that one.

01:41:46 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 1:

How do you know where to put it? It's so interesting because there's been times where I've bought memorabilia before. And I'm like, I would like to buy this memorabilia for my house. That's the only thing I think I've ever bought that I consider art. like i i have i have a tom brady autographed uh patriots jersey that is art and i'm like this is the greatest where do you hang it like where do you decide that you're hanging it like i have to hang it in a man cave yeah this person with the polar bear has to say to themselves where do we put the polar bear and they put it somewhere where everybody can see yeah and the windows aren't

01:42:18 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 2:

drawn it's like wide open like hey look at my polar bear that's amazing i loved it we should

01:42:24 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 1:

go on a polar bear house tour go check it it's funny you were talking this morning like the topic that you wanted to do is things that people rich people have in their homes uh we had talked about paul corvino our old boss the most interesting man in radio he actually lived in gross point he wasn't that gross he did yeah he lived in gross point in a in a really really awesome uh you know home that was there and we would have parties station parties there all the time and he had uh the coolest thing ever that lydia brought up this morning lydia want to tell

01:42:56 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 3:

the listeners and tell cal about it yeah so he had a batman pole in like his office like a stripper

01:43:01 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 1:

pole yeah it could be a stripper club watch the old batman show so batman had a pole that he would go on to where he became batman he would slide down to the to the bat cave like fire but you

01:43:13 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 3:

didn't see it when you walked into the room you had to open these it was closet doors it was it

01:43:17 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 1:

was like how batman had it where it came out from a uh like a bookshelf wow yeah it would go to his

01:43:23 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 3:

basement so when i would go to his house i would slide down the pole after i had a couple drinks but not just his basement i never went down the bat pool didn't you have to come out of an armoire or something what is that in the basement yeah so you had to come out it was like a closet type thing too so you had to enter this closet you dropped down to a closet and you came right out

01:43:41 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

to his basement yeah he had like a movie room in there right yeah movie theater that's rich yeah

01:43:46 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy?

01:43:48 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 1:

That is rich.

01:43:49 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 2:

You got a Batman pole to go downstairs behind your armoire. I never even said armoire. Armoire. Say it again. My mom got to figure it out. Armoire. That's good. Armoire. My lips are like struggling.

01:44:05 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

I want to do something in my house, and I want to do this. I want to do a bourbon-like room. Like I've been wanting to do this. Kind of like a speakeasy. Like we have in our basement, we have, like the kids have a video game room. They don't play videos in the video game room. It's literally got old video games that they don't use anymore, like PS2s and stuff in there. I'll take it. And they play on the TV. That's the TV I watch from. So I said to Chelsea, I go, this would be a dream of mine to have like a bourbon room and to have it so that you get a bunch of bottles of bourbon. Because I try to collect, that's the only thing I've been kind of collecting these days is I get like bourbon bottles or bourbon, special bourbons, and have them in there and then have a group of guys like with barrels of bourbon like there and sit around with nice comfy like leather chairs and we all just sit there and drink and stuff in the room. But I don't, I don't know.

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 5:

I think that would be the thing I would want to do.

01:45:01 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 4:

Would you have an armoire? Like, how would you get into this section? He's going to say it as many times as he can.

01:45:05 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 5:

I think I would have the armoire for the, is that how you pronounce it? Armoire? Or armoire? Is it armoire?

01:45:12 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 4:

Y'all looking at me, I'm just saying it.

01:45:15 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

01:45:15 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 5:

Is it armoire? I would have it. I have no idea.

01:45:18 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 1:

Now I feel like it's a weird word to say once you say it too many times.

01:45:21 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 4:

I would have the bourbon bottles on the armoire. Okay. How are we getting into your speakeasy, though? Do you have a secret lever you're pulling? You know, I never thought.

01:45:29 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 1:

It needs to be like a bookcase that you pull a book out of and it opens. Something like that.

01:45:35 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 5:

I want a sliding, like I want a thing where you touch the wall and the wall actually is like glass and then, but you don't see it there and then all of a sudden it turns into a nothing. What? No, I don't want to. I just want a door. I just want a regular door.

01:45:50 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 1:

I drove past a house the other day that had in the, they had the garage doors open and I am such a voyeur. If I'm driving past your house at night, I'm looking in. If your garage is open, I'm looking in. This family had a thing that, it reminded me of parking in New York City. It lifted cars up. So there was a car stacked on top of a car. Yeah. And then in the second garage door, there was a car stacked on top of a car. Does that make sense?

01:46:18 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I know exactly what you're talking about.

01:46:19 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 4:

It was like a lift. Yeah, yeah.

01:46:20 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 5:

You see a lot of homes that will have them because they only have like a two-car garage. And so they'll take those lifts because they have a high garage and they'll have like a car on top of there.

01:46:33 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 1:

That's what it was.

01:46:34 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 5:

A lot of those guys with those classic cars.

01:46:35 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm such a mom. Why I noticed it too was the bottom space had nothing in it except for a bunch of little kids' scooters and bikes. And I was like, oh my God, if something happens to that top car, the kids are going to get crushed. I wanted to go up to the front door so bad.

01:46:50 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 5:

I got Chaz here. Chaz, are you there?

01:46:53 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm here. How are you guys? Good morning.

01:46:55 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 5:

Good. Let me hear you say the word armoire. Armoire. That was good. That was very good. What's going on?

01:47:02 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Tell us about the house. So my aunt and uncle, when I was like four, they built their house and whatnot, and we were doing a little tour of it, and my aunt took us into this room that they have in their their basement and it's a 20 foot by 20 foot room that they have converted into a shower strictly for dogs because for their dogs their dogs are literally their dogs are literally like uh their life i guess you could say my aunt she has this dog trained so well she it's actually firefighter certified and everything yeah so you can climb ladders and whatnot she so it's it's It's crazy, like, when you walk in, and it's got that, like, the one that's right, the showerhead right in the middle, and it just falls on the dog, basically. And, yeah, you go in, you just get the dog showered and whatnot, and it's crazy.

01:47:52 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 5:

So, a friend of mine, Eric Johnson, he owns Johnson's Builders. Love him. They're a great guy, love the guy. He says that that is pretty popular, people that will make grooming areas in their home for their dogs, like, specialty, like, tubs and things. Yeah, and then the other big thing that now is becoming really, really popular in homes is the two master suites is, like, a big deal, too, which I think Chelsea would love to have, like, two master suites so you can have, like, separate rooms to go sleep in. So you go to sleep at night in two separate rooms.

01:48:27 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 4:

I would shower in a 20-by-20-foot, though. A big shower? Does the water hit you everywhere? Like, is it coming from, like, kind of like, in my mind, it's like if I put a flick of lighter in front of a sprinkler and it covers the entire area, is it like that in the shower?

01:48:40 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, because I'm not into the shower heads that are above your head. Like, I don't like the rain showers. I like them like fire hoses. I want them, seriously, tearing my skin off.

01:48:51 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm the same way, because sometimes, when I go to a hotel that has it, I don't like it, because sometimes I don't want to wash my hair. And then I got to wear a shower cap.

01:48:58 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 5:

I hate it because I'm a big man. And it never, there's always a part of my body that's getting cold. What's going on, Vicki? Hi. Hey, how's it going? Good. Oh, by the way, somebody says that they may know the neighbor that has the polar bear house. Yes. I'm sorry. Go ahead, Vicki. What's up?

01:49:14 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 2:

We have the three signed jerseys in like shadow box framed on the wall in our family room. I like it. And an entire shelf of all 32 NFL mini helmets.

01:49:28 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, by the way, and you have this up in your house. This is not something that your husband has forced you to have up.

01:49:36 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

No, it is not forced to have up. It is in our family room.

01:49:39 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 5:

Because that is, could you call my wife? Because you might be the nicest wife in the world for doing that.

01:49:45 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

It's pretty cool. It's clear acrylic shelves and all the mini helmets are on it. So they're kind of like a floating wall display. That's cool.

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

I like that. I want that. I want that. And I want a Dairy Queen ice cream machine right in the middle of my house. Would you like one of those soft serve ice cream?

01:50:00 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 4:

Did you put it with the bourbon and soft serve? Bourbon? Over soft serve? Bourbon, yes. Instead of hot fudge? How about bourbon and lemonade in a machine that's like a slushy machine at 7-Eleven?

01:50:10 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 1:

Bruh.

01:50:11 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Andrea?

01:50:12 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm getting horny. What you really need to do is have your bourbon room and then have your yacht rock music playing. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on, hold on. No, no.

01:50:26 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 4:

Yacht rock. Your yacht rock. Yacht, yo, yacht rock.

01:50:30 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 5:

I kind of want to hear a little Yara on a Friday. Seriously.

01:50:32 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 4:

I mean, tell me. Come on.

01:50:33 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 5:

Let's pour some bourbon.

01:50:34 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 4:

Be honest with me. Be honest with me, Brandy.

01:50:37 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm down today.

01:50:37 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 4:

Let's go. Wait, I'm sorry. Brandy. Your name's Andrea. Oh, my God. You know what that means? Yes. Hold on a second. I need to play Brandy. Hold on.

01:50:45 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 5:

Here we go. Can I tell you something, Mojo? I went to the farmer's market with the kids the other day, and the little band was playing this song. And in my head, all I could hear was you going, Yara Rock. Yara Rock. Bro, where are the glasses?

01:50:56 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 3:

Let's have a drink. Come on. Let's have a drink. Here we go.

01:51:02 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 4:

This is for you, Andrea. You've got to set the tone. Tell me that you don't listen to it on the weekends and think of me.

01:51:12 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 1:

It's a good mood setter. Yeah, exactly. I'll get back to you.

01:51:17 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, have a good weekend.

01:51:18 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 1:

If you're laying in the pool, it's great.

01:51:20 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. We're going to have a little glass of bourbon and listen to Yacht Rock.

01:51:27 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 4:

Cody, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:51:46 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys.

01:51:47 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 4:

How you doing?

01:51:47 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so when I moved out, my father converted my bedroom to his gun safe room.

01:51:54 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 4:

You know?

01:51:55 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he put it under a lock and key. He just has everything from floor to ceiling. A gun safe room?

01:52:01 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 4:

Like the whole room had guns in it?

01:52:04 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

Floor to ceiling.

01:52:05 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 4:

Where do you live?

01:52:06 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 5:

I would not want to go to your house.

01:52:07 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 4:

Lake Orion, or where are you at?

01:52:09 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 3:

We're out, like, Marysville. Okay. Timbal area.

01:52:13 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, there's something kind of cool about that, you know? A gun room? A gun room. He has a gun safe room.

01:52:21 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was able to get the gun safe out of his bedroom.

01:52:24 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 4:

make it into old bedroom. Does he got like old school guns? Because that'd be cool. The ones you just have to

01:52:30 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 5:

like stuff with like powder in them. Oh yeah. Musket. Like a musket. Yeah. Do this again.

01:52:39 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 4:

And what does he store the guns in? What is the name of the furniture that he stores the guns in?

01:52:47 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 3:

It's just the whole bedroom. No, no, no.

01:52:50 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. What's it called?

01:52:54 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 3:

Safe?

01:52:55 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 4:

An armoire. That's our word for the day. Today is brought to you by the letter A for armoire. Is that how you spell it? Is it with an A?

01:53:08 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 5:

Yes. There is an R at the end. So is it war? Armoire. Is it armoire?

01:53:14 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 4:

A-R-M-O-I-R-E. Yeah. Hold on. Becca, what's the rich people house that you know of? Y'all got this one. I'm out.

01:53:22 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I was at a farm in Zealand. I used to work for a restaurant and we went to this farm that like supplied us a bunch of cows and they were super rich. Like they had this beautiful house and inside the house, like, you know, you're rich when you have a small doll size model of your own home inside your home. Really?

01:53:42 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 1:

As well. Yeah.

01:53:43 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 2:

And it was like, everything was accurate. Like, it had everything the size. But then they also had this one room with all their taxidermy. And I'm not talking, like, not, like, deer and waterfowl and fish. Like, this guy went hunting in Africa and had, like, leopards and stuff. But my favorite taxidermy was two raccoons playing poker with each other.

01:54:04 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 4:

Insane. That's awesome.

01:54:06 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 2:

Taxidermy freaks me out.

01:54:08 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

It does. Big time. It does. It's kind of weird. I know. but it's wild. That's funny, Becca. Thank you for the call. We appreciate you. No problem. Have a good day, guys. 01:56:46 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 6:

This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. This topic's funny because it was never called what it was called, but what is the name that you call your privates?

01:56:59 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 4:

Went out to dinner with two other couples last night. I got a shout-out at this restaurant, by the way, because it was my first time there. Mr. Paul's Chop House in Roseville. Oh, my God. Obsessed. Absolutely obsessed. Try it if you haven't. So we're all sitting around the table, and it's Wes and myself, and then we're there with two other couples, and everybody was drinking and telling stories and it was so fun. And my friend Annie, who I was sitting next to, was killing me because we were talking about some sex-related topics. And she would only say private parts.

01:57:31 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 6:

That was the name that she had?

01:57:33 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 4:

For everything. Would not say anything else other than, and just kind of meekly like, my private parts.

01:57:40 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 6:

Would she say private parts or privates? Nope, just private parts. So she was-

01:57:45 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 4:

Very specifically, private parts.

01:57:47 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 6:

Give us an example of like a sentence that she would use.

01:57:50 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 4:

So she would say something like, you know, I, I don't know, I, we, you know, I, I was going, I was going to bed and the dog came in and I didn't have any, my bra and drawer on. So we saw my private parts and then, you know, and it was so funny because then her boyfriend, like we're continuing the conversation and he kept saying blow Jay. Blow Jay. That is a PG family. this is so funny

01:58:19 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 6:

do they say cheese and crackers too

01:58:21 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so but I was just private parts and blow jay they say bacon cookies in real life

01:58:27 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 6:

in real life

01:58:28 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 4:

but like people always ask me where the heck Christmas came from and I really don't know it started as a joke with some girlfriends and myself in college and it just stuck and so now that's what we say

01:58:38 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 6:

Come on in.

02:00:00 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 2:

Bring them in. Hi. Come on in, guys. What's up, y'all? Good morning. You came in at the right time. We're talking about... Oh, my gosh.

02:00:06 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 5:

You came in at the right time. They just scared me. I turned around. There's people.

02:00:09 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 2:

We're talking about what do you call your private parts. So get ready for some fun here. Come on. If those aren't comfortable for you, we'll mix and match. Here, switch with these guys. Maybe that's more comfortable over there. We got two other ones. You like that? Sit on the old chairs. I don't want to hurt your private parts on this thing. That's what we're talking about here. We got private. We appreciate it. Don't ever want to hurt your private parts. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Hello.

02:00:37 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. I thought you were asking for the Janet Jackson qualifications. I'm sorry.

02:00:41 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Who's giving away Janet Jackson tickets? That's not us, but I want to know who's giving them away. What station are you listening to? 95.5. Now, Janet, where did you hear Janet Jackson? I didn't know that Janet's even doing this show. Is she? I thought, maybe I'm making a mistake. I'm just waking up. No, no, no, no. Janet was here in July. Are you serious, though? I love Janet Jackson. Yeah, it's supposed to be in Vegas. I thought it was you guys. No, no, no. That's the iHeart Festival. She's not in the iHeart Festival. Oh, yeah. Okay. Mariah Carey is at the iHeart Festival.

02:01:18 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 1:

It was breezy. It was breezy tonight. That's what it was. You just want to go to a concert.

02:01:23 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey, let me ask you, who is this, by the way? What's your name? My name is Edward. Edward, what did your parents call your privates? Like, what did they call your, you know, like if you had to, you know, refer to your penis as a little child, what did your parents call it?

02:01:40 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'll put it to you this way. My mom now, well, I'm not going to say now. She passed in February, but she, as of 97 years old, she called it junk. That's a great one, too. She picked that up from her grandkids. I love it.

02:02:00 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Well, God rest her soul. We'll talk to you later, buddy.

02:02:03 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thank you. Appreciate it. Have a great day.

02:02:05 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 2:

Keep listening. We'll have more tickets coming up. Jacqueline, hi. Good morning. Hi, good morning. What did your mom call your vagina? The tutu. Ah, tutu. That is so good.

02:02:20 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 5:

Do you know where she got that from? I really don't. I imagine it must have been from her mother. I actually never asked her, but then my girls, I have five girls, and she helped take care of them when they were little, and they started to call it a tutu, and then they took ballet. And, of course, they couldn't stop laughing. They couldn't stop laughing when they would go to ballet, and they were like, oh, my tutu.

02:02:43 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 2:

That's great. Thanks for the call. We appreciate it. Thanks for the laugh. What's up, Angie? How you doing? Oh, did I lose Angie? I think I lost her. No. Yeah, I think I'm going to click on it, and I might have hit that. Call back, Angie. Jessica, good morning.

02:03:00 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning, guys. It's my first time calling in. Hey, Jessica, hello.

02:03:06 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? What did you guys call your privates?

02:03:10 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, my boyfriend calls it a net in.

02:03:13 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 2:

He calls what a net in? The vagina?

02:03:16 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

My vagina, yeah.

02:03:17 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

A net in? Is there some kind of a fun reference to that, or what is that from?

02:03:23 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so he is Mr. Jump Steady. He is Violent Jay's brother from Insane Clown Posse. Oh, really? Yeah, and when they were teenagers, they came up with the term net-in for vagina, and now their whole fan base calls it a net-in.

02:03:39 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Calls it a net-in.

02:03:39 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Calls it a vagina. Yep.

02:03:40 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, by the way, is there something really dirty to that, and I'm not getting it?

02:03:44 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. I think they just call it a net-in.

02:03:47 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 2:

Is it a net-in or a nut-in? I don't know. it's it's it's a good one it's spelled n-e-d-e-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d-n-e-d

02:04:20 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, y'all. My husband, when Shannon said something about the blowjay, my husband decides he wants to French it up and call it a fudgee. Thinking I'm going to do it. Thinking I'm going to do it.

02:04:34 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 5:

You make it fancy.

02:04:37 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 2:

Rose, what's happening?

02:04:39 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, when I was growing up, my mother would always say, make sure you wash your ootie coop. That's what she taught.

02:04:46 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 5:

Ootie coop. Ootie coop. For years. My nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, they call it that too now. The Ooty Coop.

02:04:54 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. That is great. Johnny, what's up, Johnny? How are you?

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm good.

02:05:00 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 4:

hi johnny johnny what's up bro isn't that you johnny that's you yes johnny it's mojo what's

02:05:11 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 7:

happening hey mojo hey quick question how scale of one to ten one being the lowest ten being the

02:05:17 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

highest how much do you love weenus as far as the name or do i love weenuses no yes weenuses i love I love my weenus.

02:05:28 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 7:

And all of them, though, like in general? Well, I... Looking at them, touching them, talking about them. What are you talking about? Out of those three, which would you prefer?

02:05:39 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Out of those three? I don't know. I would rather... Lydia, I have no idea. You screened this call, but I like touching my weenus. I mean, it feels wonderful.

02:05:50 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 1:

He wanted to say something else that was really inappropriate, and I said you cannot say that on air.

02:05:54 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what was he going to say?

02:05:55 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

He wanted to ask if you like the C word.

02:05:58 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, like for the woman's vagina? For the gun. Oh, the, oh, oh, oh.

02:06:02 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you did, Johnny. No, no, no, no, no, don't try me.

02:06:06 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 4:

So I got to tell you that that word, though, I kind of like it. Do you rhyme it? Because I'm confused. You know, C-O-C-K. Okay. You could have just rhymed it. Come on! Yeah. Do that. I like that word. I know that sounds weird, but I like that word. Why? Because it's got something, there's something gritty about it. It's got moxie. It's got moxie. Exactly. Will, what's going on, Will?

02:06:31 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 2:

It's something gritty. Not too much. My wife got this from her grandmother, who's Haitian, and she always called it a Chevalette, which I'm not sure of the story behind it, but I always found it very strange.

02:06:47 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 4:

A Chevrolet or a Chevalette?

02:06:50 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 2:

A Chevalette.

02:06:52 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

That's what she would call the privates. Oh, yeah.

02:06:55 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, shovel what?

02:06:56 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 4:

Interesting.

02:06:57 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

Patients call it.

02:06:59 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 4:

Deezah, what's up?

02:07:01 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 6:

Hi, it's Dezah.

02:07:03 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I was like, this is great. Deezah Nuts.

02:07:07 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God. She's heard that before. Funny story. My birth name used to be Nuts, so. Wait, wait, wait, slow down. What? Your mama named you Nuts? That was my very first name, yes. And then before I went to high school, I got my last name changed to my dad's last name of Horngate. So, yes.

02:07:33 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

02:07:33 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 6:

What's the last name? Horngate? Horngate. Oh, you poor thing. Oh, yeah. It was horrible. Oh, my gosh.

02:07:43 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 4:

This is even better. It's horrible. Desi, tell everybody what your fiancé calls your privates.

02:07:50 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. No, it's what I call his.

02:07:52 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

02:07:54 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 6:

So I call his the mushroom part.

02:07:57 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

The mushroom part. Okay.

02:07:59 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 6:

Because one day he was explaining it, and he's like, the top of it looks like a mushroom. And still to this day, we've been together almost seven years, and we still call it the mushroom part.

02:08:10 - 02:08:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:08:11 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 8:

I'm from Mario.

02:08:11 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 4:

Do you like mushrooms on your pizza?

02:08:14 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely.

02:08:15 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 4:

Although that's the problem, though, is you think about that now, and you think about, yeah, okay. Next call. What did you have of a lit? I don't know. What's going on, David? Hi.

02:08:25 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 8:

Hey, how's it going? Long time listener. Hey, David over the phone. Yes, sir. But my son come up to me one day, and he had asked me what the woman's private part was called. And he said, Dad, is it called a noo-noo? Noo-noo. And I lost it. I don't know where he came up with that word from, but it was hilarious.

02:08:49 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 4:

And you know what? That's a good word. I like that. Nunu. Nunu. What's up, Ben?

02:08:55 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how you doing?

02:08:56 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

02:08:58 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 3:

So I grew up in a very Catholic family. It's not like more private part of base, but when there was something like inappropriate on like TV or anything just popped up randomly, my parents would say Nike. We'd have to look at the ground, and then we'd go Adidas when you had to look up.

02:09:14 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 4:

That was their way of getting you to not look at what was inappropriate.

02:09:17 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So my family was very religious, so anything like that was. You know, pretty bad, but, yeah, it was just funny.

02:09:23 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 4:

That is actually a great way to get you to not pay attention to something, although that would make me want to pay attention more. Deanna, last call. What's up, Deanna?

02:09:32 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Okay, so growing up, my grandpa, he would introduce himself to people, shake their hand really aggressively, and say, How you doing, muff? M-U-F-F.

02:09:45 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 4:

And what was he referring to?

02:09:47 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 5:

Look at you, Shan. A vagina.

02:09:49 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 4:

He was, he would call your grandfather. All right, think of this thing. Sweet grandpa.

02:09:56 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

No, grandpas can be dirty, though.

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 3:

He was a dirty old grandpa. Oh, yeah, you can tell. Yeah. But I didn't know what muff meant until later in life. And I'm like, my grandpa called everybody vagina?

02:10:12 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 4:

Is grandpa still with us or is he dead?

02:10:15 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

No, no, rest his soul. No, he's not.

02:10:18 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 5:

He's in muff heaven.

02:10:20 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's in muff heaven.

02:10:21 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Take care of yourself. Bye.

02:11:08 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 4:

A dewcracker. A dewcracker.

02:11:10 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 1:

A what?

02:11:11 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 4:

As long as it ain't soggy, I... Say it again.

02:11:14 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 1:

Say it again. What? Dewcracker. A dewcracker. A dewcracker.

02:11:17 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 4:

A dewcracker or a dudecracker?

02:11:20 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 2:

No, dude... Dew. A dewcracker. I don't know. When I was young, we would say that was the.

02:11:25 - 02:11:26 | Speaker 4:

That was the Dew Cracker.

02:11:26 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:11:51 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 4:

The last dirty of the week, Shannon. First full week of August is over with.

02:11:58 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 1:

So we got some sad news yesterday evening, and we had just talked about this during the show. Brandon Blackstock, who is Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, Reba McIntyre's former stepson, died after a private battle with cancer. I heard he had melanoma, and he had been battling melanoma, which is a really aggressive form of skin cancer for about the past three years. Only 48 years old. um this is why she left doing the show huh yeah well she had posted a message on instagram yesterday about pausing the remaining dates of her vegas residency and she said it had something to do with her ex-husband and she needed to be there for their children but you know they had a very very messy divorce they were married for just about 10 years but a really contentious divorce that she spoke about recently actually you know you'd never want you'd never want your

02:12:49 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 2:

kid in this relationship like i would want better for them i want better for my ex yeah better for us all yeah right so it's i just want them to grow up in a you know not a a toxic kind of healthy unhealthy environment you know grief is such a weird thing because i feel like roller coaster

02:13:04 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

right yeah it's got to be super tough uh a super computer predicted who is going to win the super bowl this year okay it is not the eagles it is not the chiefs sorry swifties Good. Is it the Lions? So who is it? It's not the Lions. But I'll tell you where they are on this thing. So OptiAnalyst's projection model is giving the Buffalo Bills a league-high 13.4% chance of winning this season's Super Bowl. Kansas City does have the second-best odds at 9.6%. The Lions are down at number eight.

02:13:40 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Huh. I think they got a tough schedule. I'm worried about this schedule.

02:13:44 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 1:

And just so you know how this was analyzed, it analyzes, it looks at each team's quarterback and efficiency versus expected performance in terms of, like, yardage, passing situations, and then it analyzes each regular season matchup and gives every team an expected win percentage, and that's how this supercomputer came up with that. Nerd!

02:14:03 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It's going to be interesting. I just will tell you that I do not want the Eagles to win it again. I saw that they played last night, and they actually scored on that, which should be a legal play.

02:14:17 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 5:

It should not be illegal And I'm glad we weren't one of the franchises That voted for it to be banned I think the Bills have been right there For the past four or five seasons They are Josh Allen he won MVP last year They got extra help on defense They're on hard knocks this year

02:14:34 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 4:

They could be a doomed franchise though They've had chances So it could be interesting

02:14:41 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 5:

What's his wife's name?

02:14:44 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 4:

Who?

02:14:45 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 5:

Josh Allen Hailey Steinfeld. Oh, my God. Can we win just for her? They're adorable.

02:14:51 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 4:

We like her better than Taylor, yes. By far.

02:14:54 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 5:

No, I and we.

02:14:57 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Cassie Ventura just made her first.

02:15:00 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 2:

social media appearance since giving birth and since testifying against diddy she posted a meme to her instagram story that captured the ups and downs of postpartum life it had the caption when your old self slowly starts coming out of postpartum little by little and it's like this guy like kind of funny dancing but this marks her return to social media following the birth of her third baby she had a little boy in late may and shortly after giving her court testimony For everything you missed from today, from the week, you can catch up by checking out the podcast this weekend. 02:15:49 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 3:

All right, we've already begun our weekend. We are not even paying attention. We are keeping our eyes off the road, and we are ready for the weekend. It's going to be a nice weekend as far as weather is concerned. It's going to be hot, but it looks like no rain in the forecast. Am I right? Can I say that to you? So it looks like the rain may stay away for a little bit, but we'll get some hot temperatures. It's Mojo in the morning. I saw this trending, and I thought this is actually kind of an interesting one just to throw out and see if there are any people that are doing this. They say that a new trend that seems to be happening among people that are on Hinge is single women who are using Hinge to get their furniture built by the matches that they have for free. Some women are repurposing the dating app Hinge to get help building the furniture, and this is known as Bob the Buildering. the trend is seeing an uptick where guys are complaining that they've met women and matched with them only to be put to work. And it's kind of wild because they actually got some women to admit to this. One woman, her name is Storm, shared that she had several matches that came over while she was redecorating her house and she was buying a bunch of plants, hanging a bunch of decor and she said that she needed somebody that could actually help her hang pictures so she asked for a first date for him to come over to the house she made him dinner and he did that another person this is a person whose name is michelle says that she had some ikea furniture that she couldn't figure out how to put it together she went on hinge within an hour she had a match had him come over the next night and he put furniture together for her see is that unreal either we will do

02:17:51 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 4:

anything to get the the um the dew cracker or in my mind a little bit this is the most sexist thing in the world because if i had a hands date and invited her over and ah i don't know how to

02:18:04 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 3:

to my mom it's so funny this is a while ago but she did yeah she had gone out with like a really nice guy and he was doing like all the things around the house right and we're like that's not you can't do that like what kind of stuff like changing smoke battery detectors or like helping move furniture i don't even know what it you know what it was but i'm like that's not like yeah that's not how you form a connection in a relationship it's yeah no guy no guy uh wants

02:18:51 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

to have the honeydew list to be the first honey that he gets out of the dude but we all we all

02:18:55 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 4:

02:19:06 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 3:

02:19:22 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 4:

i drive an f-150 perfect what are you doing saturday have you help me with this 844 mojo

02:19:28 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Also live, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number.

02:19:34 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 2:

But to be fair, it's also on the guy to say, no, I know what's happening here. Who do you think is going to get us somewhere?

02:19:42 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, first off, they would be really sad if they hooked up or matched with me because I can't do anything. Like, I wouldn't know what to do. Me either. And honestly, I would be pretty open about it because I couldn't fake it. Like, I'm not a person.

02:20:00 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 5:

that can put together furniture. Sometimes it depends on what the thing is. I'm buying a new bed frame, and you better believe, outside of the protection plan, I put the professional assembly required check on there, too. I'm not doing this. I remember when the kids were younger, and we would go to Torres R.U.S. and buy something. I'm like, Chelsea, just pay the extra money. It would be like $100 to have them put it together, and she would not because she would put it together.

02:20:22 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 4:

And then there you'd be on Christmas Eve.

02:20:24 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 5:

Struggling. No, it wasn't Christmas Eve. It was the 23rd. And the kids are in bed sleeping, and we're trying to make it that we actually have. It took two days sometimes to put these damn things together, those power wheels. Danny, what's up, Danny? How you doing?

02:20:42 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

Good parents. Good morning, my favorite radio people. Good morning, Danny.

02:20:46 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 5:

Danny, you pull this, don't you?

02:20:50 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 3:

I do not, but I am all for this. I'm about to sign up for Hinge right now, so I can do this.

02:20:55 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 5:

What kind of stuff are you hoping to get done around the house?

02:21:00 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Um, so I can do many things. I hate hanging stuff. I don't know why it's so like I'll make somebody dinner. We'll come hang my, all my pictures and stuff.

02:21:10 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's hanging stuff on the wall is bad because anytime you, I just put the nail in there and go, that looks good. That looks good. But the people that come out with the level, you know, and kind of have it mapped out. Bree, what's up? Hi, Bree.

02:21:30 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

02:21:32 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 5:

We're good, Bree. We're talking about Bob the Buildering, people that are going on Hinge just to find guys to help them with things.

02:21:39 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was saying that I thought it was pretty funny because my partner actually assembled for Wayfair and Ikea, and, yeah, I get all the perks, luckily. And I also don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for people to kind of have to benefit you in some way to be a part of your life because I'm sure you contribute things to their life as well.

02:22:00 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 5:

It's the first date. Can I be honest? If you're going to give it up on the first date, there's guys that are going to do it. No, no, no. You don't think that there's guys?

02:22:08 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 1:

That's prostitution. There's people that are going to do things for you, whether you give it up or not, whether it's just for being an amazing person, people want to do things for you.

02:22:15 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 5:

She's got to be a smoke show. You must look amazing because, come on. Yeah, she lived life different.

02:22:22 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm for real. Literally all my life, people are like, can I give this to you? Can I do this for you? Oh, yeah.

02:22:26 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 5:

send us a lydia get a picture of brie we want to see what she looks like uh kendall what's happening how you doing would you ever have a guy come over to mow your lawn uh kendall

02:22:42 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 2:

hi you got me yeah i got one time i had a group of people over after the bars and i was actually supposed to be moving the next morning the movers were coming at like 7 a.m and one guy who i just met that night he ended up staying the whole night and helping me move all of my furniture to the front porch so that it cut their work time in like half saved us hundreds of bucks

02:23:08 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 5:

man oh man did y'all have sex the night before never saw him again never saw him again never saw him again you did not have sex then with him that's why you never saw him again uh rob what's up oh can you hear me yeah rob what do you think would you fall for this crap i mean i've fallen

02:23:27 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 4:

for it but it wasn't as directly as working so it has to do with my main hobby which is playing tennis so what will happen is uh they'll see that i play tennis and they'll find out what level i play and i play the level i could be a club pro okay they want to have a first date but they have an agenda of what they want me to do for them so they're basically getting a free tennis lesson

02:23:48 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 5:

Rob, quick question about guys that are really good at tennis and pros like that. You must get laid all the time because you probably put your arms around them and show them how to hold the racket. I mean, go ahead. How many women that you teach tennis to, how many women are you banging?

02:24:14 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it's been quite a few, I'll be honest.

02:24:16 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

so so i i look at these guys that are like golf professionals too that teach golf and the guys that teach golf i'm like going these guys they can get laid anytime they want to not him though this guy can't i got just one of my favorite guys in the world justin here who's a golf professional and i'm going to tell you this he's lucky to have that girl over there there is no way i don't know did he try to teach you golf or no did he it's unbelievable uh say trot is nine iron yeah what's going on megan how you doing i'm good how are you good we're talking about this trend where women are going on hinge

02:25:00 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 6:

just to find guys to do work for them yeah and um so my two cents on this i think it's absolutely ridiculous same us as women we're so much smarter than this yes brains yeah you know how to hang up an effing picture geez yeah come on i think it's absolutely horrible i agree i'm gonna i would

02:25:22 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 4:

never do that i'm protesting this i'm i'm calling this out this is going to be the thing i'm standing for. You're using us men and you know what? Us men have worked so hard to not be used over the years.

02:25:35 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 1:

Right? Yeah, well, same with women, you know. This could banfire so badly, though. Like, what if you wanted a guy to, like, hang up a bunch of your stuff and it was all crooked and you know. I know that is

02:25:46 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 4:

true. It could really not work in your favor. Yeah. What would you do?

02:25:50 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 6:

And then you have to come up with, like, an awkward like, exit. Like, oh, you know, you have to go. thank you for the call Megan

02:26:02 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 4:

appreciate it if you're a guy that knows you're being used when you walk over to their home and they've got a bunch of Ikea furniture to put together you just put like one last piece in there and have the thing fall apart on the next guy that comes over alright Kevin you should try this though it is it's true it's a double standard you should go on a dating app this weekend to see if you can get someone to make you dinner

02:26:24 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 3:

Come over and cook?

02:26:25 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:26:26 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 3:

Unless we baking cookies.

02:26:28 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 4:

Seriously.

02:26:29 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 1:

But then you're going to get someone like me who can't cook to save her life.

02:26:32 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wasn't that a topic that you brought up like a week or two weeks ago? I cooked. You cooked and the girl did not like.

02:26:38 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 3:

She said it wasn't cooking, quote unquote, because I threw some stuff in the microwave.

02:26:42 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, okay.

02:26:43 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 3:

She ate out every single morsel.

02:26:45 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 4:

Man, I think we'd all just be gay. What do you think?

02:26:48 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 1:

Nope. Nope. I'm good.

02:26:51 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 2:

WQI Detroit. WSNX, Mesquite, and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:27:06 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 4:

All right. Oh, here's a question I want to ask. I got to ask a question to women to explain two words to me when they're put together. And the two words are, I suppose. What? But explain what that means. Like, if you are with your wife or your girlfriend as a guy and you ask a question, it should either be yes or no. I suppose is not a definitive answer. Like, would you like to go out for dinner? I suppose. Like, that is not a good one. Or want to have sex? I suppose. you know like those the words I suppose is like the worst way to answer a question that is being

02:27:53 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 1:

asked can I tell you the translation no but if you're really gonna make me that's what it is

02:27:58 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 4:

yes so is that kind of the uh the answer that's it's like a it's fine that's like fine it's not a great by the way fine is the worst thing too like when you say fine you're not fine I know

02:28:12 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 3:

you're not fine like fine is fine is not fine so it's more of like an obligation yes yeah

02:28:19 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 4:

yeah that's deep yeah but but if you ask it like so if you're a guy and you ask a question to your whoever girlfriend or wife and she says i suppose that is not one you gotta like say no I want a yes or I want a no because the I suppose always ends up will come back and be like, yeah, I really didn't want to do this thing.

02:28:45 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

So if you are the person, Shannon, that says I suppose and then Mojo is saying, no, give me a yes or a no. Do you give the yes or a no or are you still in your I suppose?

02:28:57 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 1:

In most cases, I'm thinking it's a no. I'm just trying to be nice.

02:29:01 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So just take that as a no. Yeah. By the way, it's another one.

02:29:06 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 3:

No, it depends on what it is.

02:29:09 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm just going to take it as a yes.

02:29:11 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 3:

Depend on what it is, I'm going to take it as a yes.

02:29:13 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 4:

You are taking it as a yes? So I suppose you're jumping at it.

02:29:15 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 3:

Like if you want to have sex for something, you know, you want to have sex and you ask and you say, I suppose, I'm not going to let you say no. No.

02:29:21 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to take the I suppose. If I get I suppose when I say, hey, can we have sex or do you want to have sex? I suppose.

02:29:29 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 1:

That's not the answer you want. You're not going to do it?

02:29:32 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 4:

No. I'm going to do it. That's what I'm saying. But I'm going to know she didn't want to. Elise, what's going on?

02:29:40 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so my husband and I have been married for a little over 12 years, and we still both agree that if either one of us say, sure, whether text or verbally, it's like a middle finger. Like, hey, do you want to do this? Sure.

02:29:53 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 1:

It's like, no, not really, but I will.

02:29:55 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea pulls that with me. My wife will do the sure thing. Like, hey, you know. Do you want to go out for dinner or whatever, or would you want to go to the mall with me? Sure is, again, another, I suppose. That's a tough one, Elise. So what do you do? Mm-hmm is another one, too.

02:30:16 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 3:

Usually, I give a big thumbs up right back if that's his answer. Sure. By the way, we've talked about that.

02:30:23 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 4:

Thumbs up is the worst emoji that you can ever respond to anything with. if you thought if you sum up something you're basically middle fingering everything

02:30:32 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

oh absolutely absolutely yeah where are you going right now where you at i have my one-year-old in the car and i'm heading to an appointment after a broken car and no good coffee and just a no good morning but i'd love listening to you guys

02:30:46 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 4:

how can we make your morning better is there anything we can do to help you make this this a better one today it sounds horrible listen i'm about to go to a mom's retreat that

02:30:57 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 3:

that I selfishly put together and going to go relax. I have my four kids being watched, and you know what? I can't complain.

02:31:05 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I hope you have the best time. Let us know how it is when you get back from this retreat, okay? I absolutely will. I love you guys. Have a good one. Take that thing in the secret drawer for a special good time. Hey, you got it. Can you bring that? She's going to be with other women. Can you bring that? Can you bring it there, too? Jen, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. My friends are here.

02:31:25 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Mojo. How are you doing?

02:31:27 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's going on?

02:31:29 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 2:

I love this subject because I just had to say, if someone says, I suppose, especially a woman, it just means choose wisely because it's not exciting. Threads lightly.

02:31:41 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that is good.

02:31:43 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 2:

100%. And so I just have a question for you then. Yes. Did you choose wisely when you had this conversation with Chelsea?

02:31:49 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 4:

No. When I say something that I really want to do and she says, I suppose, I pretend that she didn't say, I suppose. so that's usually my thing

02:31:57 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 2:

you go for the yes then

02:32:00 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 4:

I just no I pretty much I'm like alright that's about as good as I'm going to get you understand I'm a pretty good negotiator at most things not negotiating with my wife is not she wins all the negotiations that we have

02:32:12 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

so then you go with I suppose equals no

02:32:16 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 4:

exactly yeah

02:32:17 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 2:

smart guy smart man Mojo I have to ask you we're coming up from Virginia and my little girl wants to know should we can come in there and see you guys next week tomorrow morning

02:32:25 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Hold on. If you're an iHeart listener and you make it to Detroit, let Lydia know. And if you're in Detroit, even our Grand Rapids and Toledo people, if you're going to be visiting, we'd love to have you come by and say hi. Hold on one second, okay? Hold on. No, no, no, no. Hold on. Hold on. I suppose.

02:32:47 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm choosing wrong, buddy. I'll see you next week. All right.

02:32:50 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 4:

Hold on one second. Lydia will talk to you. Remy, what is it that your boyfriend hates?

02:32:53 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 2:

when i say if you want oh that's that's the same to me as i suppose yep yeah because if he if he says you want me to sit down and watch this movie with you i mean if you want

02:33:06 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 4:

what do you want it don't matter to me if you want to oh my god you are that's mad remy i love you have a great weekend love you guys all right take care real quick i want to say hi again to uh katie and jessica uh they are in the studio here because they were part of a charity fundraiser for canine companions of oxford which uh sounds wonderful and i know i uh according to uh is it lydia you said uh colleen grant uh did this one or who who was the person that connected us with

02:33:48 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 4:

02:34:33 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 4:

02:34:48 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and he's chief of investigation for Detroit PD.

02:34:52 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's a detective and an investigator and a pastor. Tell me that. That wouldn't be the most incredible father-in-law to ever have. Holy cow.

02:35:03 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 2:

He's great. He's great.

02:35:05 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:35:06 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Unbelievable.

02:35:08 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, he is one of the kindest, sweetest guys. So I just want you to know he's, like, beloved by us and our family. All right. Have a great weekend real quick before we leave. I want to let Kev shout out an event he's going to do. And then our backstage pastors have an event that's coming up. You're doing an event this weekend. When is it, Sunday?

02:35:26 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 2:

It is Sunday. I'll be there from noon until 2. You got to go to 855mikewins.com to register. I'll be at Mike Morris. You know, it's Project Backpack Look Forward. So we're giving out backpacks, school supplies. I'll have ice cream. We'll have food trucks, face painting, games, giveaways. A good time. I'll be out there from 12 to 2 against Southfield. Mike Morris.

02:35:48 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. He does that every single year. Mike Morris does a great job with that, making sure that the kids have things to go back to school with. Again, make sure you join Kevin. Go see him this weekend. And then our nice people here that are backstage passers that did this for the K&I Rescue, you guys are doing an event, and this is pretty funny. What is the event called?

02:36:07 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 1:

It's called the No Balls Comedy Ball. It is on September 28th at the Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. You can get tickets. You should be able to get it through the ccrcdogs.com website, or at least go there, and you should be able to get some information, or at the Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. But, again, it's the No Balls Comedy Ball on Sunday, September 28th, and it's from 1 to 3. Love that. And it's an awesome, awesome charity.

02:36:34 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 4:

Jessica and Katie, thank you guys so much. Thank you so much for coming in. Have a great weekend, everybody. We'll see you Monday. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
