00:01:06 - 00:01:07 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:01:08 - 00:01:41 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here. Kev is out again this morning. He'll be out all week. We've got myself. We've got Shannon. We've got Lydia, otherwise known as Taylor Swift fanatic. We've got Bianca. We've got Zach. Hello. And we've got you. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, the telephone number. We're not going to call Shannon Shannon. We're going to call her that girl, the person who brings their dog with them everywhere.

00:01:41 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you guys, but hear me out. I kind of sort of had to. You know those days that are just so busy and you're trying to go, what is the best scenario for me to get everything done in a timely fashion? That was my day yesterday. I had so many appointments, so many errands to run, and I had a vet appointment for my little Charlie who is going to turn 16 years old in a couple of months and a bunch of the errands that I had to run were around his vet's office so I thought all right I'm going to throw him in the car and he's just going to come to everything with myself and my kids Lucy and Smith so I go to CVS to pick up my prescription and I said to Lou you stay in the car with the dog all I have to do is literally run in grab my inhaler and run back out I'll be in and out in two minutes well she didn't want to stay in the car because she wanted to get some candy or something like that and smith never wants to be without me so he was coming in and i thought i can't leave the dog in the car it's 10 000 degrees outside and so and if you

00:02:41 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 5:

did even for a second somebody would call that yeah you would have a million percent which i

00:02:47 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 2:

understand by the way i mean it was hot so i said to lou i couldn't put you look how big my bag is You guys know this huge tote bag that I bring in every day, but he's so frail that I think I would break his legs if I would have put him in the bag. So I told Lucy, okay, kind of hide him like in your armpit, in the crook of your arm. And we just brought him in this CVS with us. And every time we went to go down an aisle and there was a CVS employee, we're like, next tile, next tile, next tile. So we just made a, we weaved through the store to get back to the pharmacy and had to hide the dog to do our, to do our errand. But I think a lot of people sneak pets in. I go, Lou, if anybody asks you, just say it's your emotional support dog. He's wearing a diaper and he's 16 years old. He can't be left by himself.

00:03:32 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 5:

What would you get more disdain for? Would you get more disdain leaving your dog in a hot car or lying about having an emotional support animal?

00:03:39 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 2:

I think if they looked at him, they'd be like, yeah, he's pretty scraggly and ragged. Yeah, he doesn't look like there's much. Actually, he needs the emotional support. I know.

00:03:47 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm his emotional support person. That's funny.

00:03:51 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know if you're allowed to have dogs. You might be able to. I kept looking for something, but I, yeah, I, I didn't assume you could.

00:03:58 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 5:

So not to, not to ruin the conversation, but I don't think it will ruin it. But, you know, people who bring their dogs everywhere, um, which by the way, it seems like nowadays it's more than like a, even a decade ago, a decade ago, somebody just all of a sudden was sitting next to me at a restaurant with a dog. I probably would be like, Oh Jesus, what is going on here now? oh, I feel like it's the norm, you know what I mean? Like it's more norm than ever. But why did you not just go through the drive-thru of the CVS?

00:04:27 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 2:

This one doesn't have a drive-thru.

00:04:28 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it doesn't have a drive-thru?

00:04:29 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:04:30 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, and those are the ones I stopped going to, are the ones without the drive-thrus. Although the drive-thru of CVS is annoying as hell because they have the drop-off area, like where you can drop something off, which has got the like bank teller shoot thing. And then they have the window. And I hate to say this, and please don't be offended with me if you're my CVS on Orchard Lake Road. You guys are the slowest people I have ever encountered in my life. The CVS people are, there must be like nobody.

00:05:00 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 2:

working either there or what but it is so slow when I go pick up I don't I refuse to pick up prescriptions unless there's 20 of them waiting for me you know what I mean like I won't go if there's one thing like if I've got something that I need like Dr. Warner I've called him before and said yeah Mark I am not feeling good he'll go I'll call a prescription I'm a no I'll get over it because I don't want to stop off at CVS to go get it and I hate hate hate hate hate going to CVS

00:05:26 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Our insurance used to have it, we've really digressed, where you could get them in the mail. So I got every single prescription, unless it was like an antibiotic I needed that day, in the mail. It was so nice.

00:05:34 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Our insurance used to let us go to Walgreens, too. And the Walgreens by my house is spectacular. The people there were great listeners. It was awesome. It was easy to get in and out of the thing.

00:05:43 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

They had a drive-thru.

00:05:44 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 2:

And then our insurance, this Blue Cross Blue Shield of Chicago or whatever, Illinois, is the worst piece of crap ever. Do not recommend it, by the way. What's up, Heather? How you doing?

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How's everyone this morning? Good morning.

00:05:58 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

We're doing good. Do you bring your dog everywhere?

00:06:02 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't. But honestly, people don't sneak their animals anymore. They just take them. I went to the grocery store last week. There was a lady walking two dogs down the aisle.

00:06:12 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy, isn't it?

00:06:14 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

None of them had a support thing or anything like that.

00:06:19 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Especially big dogs. You're right. You ever see those big dogs that look like big sheep? You know what I mean? Like, what are those big, who is it, we were talking about it the other day. It was one of our listeners that was talking about, we were asking questions of where white people could ask black people questions, black people could ask white people questions, and a black guy goes, he wanted to ask a question, why is it that white people all have those same big, or the, or yeah, like the furry dogs. Yeah. Yeah. But you're right, though. You're walking down the aisle and all of a sudden you're like, holy crap, there's an Like, I feel like it's one of a bear sighting sometimes, you know?

00:06:56 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, kind of.

00:06:58 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's nuts, Heather. Where do you live? What town do you live in?

00:07:03 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 4:

Toledo.

00:07:04 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, that's wild. Toledo, you guys can open carry alcohol and stuff in downtown. Can you also bring your pets anywhere you want to?

00:07:13 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:14 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Is it pretty much? Yeah.

00:07:16 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Nobody says anything anyways. Like, I don't know if they're allowed. Nobody says anything.

00:07:21 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

but like everybody's with their dogs everywhere yeah that's crazy thanks for the call appreciate

00:07:26 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

you listening uh what's up alan how you doing buddy good uh so a local radio station was having a fundraiser and i was umpiring at it and one of the radio station employees had brought her dog with her and played kickball she carried her dog with her and nobody threw the ball because they They were scared they were going to hit her dog.

00:07:49 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 1:

Like she was going to run the bases with the dog?

00:07:52 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the dog ran the bases right behind her, and they were scared to throw the ball because they were scared to hit her dog.

00:07:57 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

What a great way to get away. What station was this?

00:08:01 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 3:

97.9 Free Bear and Hot Wings.

00:08:03 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

Free Bear and Hot Wings. So their dog, they like bring their dogs everywhere, people? Or is it, who is it, their co-host?

00:08:10 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she takes her dog to the shows, to any event.

00:08:15 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

It's annoying as hell.

00:08:16 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

And then, Mojo, for the pharmacy, Mark Cuban has an online pharmacy. You don't even have to leave your house. They will mail them to you. Does our insurance cover it?

00:08:28 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

I need to find out if our insurance covers it. I'll do it in a second.

00:08:33 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

From what they say is they charge less than insurance.

00:08:36 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 2:

All right. Would you see a commercial somewhere?

00:08:39 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Actually, it was on Shark Tank.

00:08:43 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Got to go check it out. Thanks, Alan. I appreciate it. I don't think our insurance covers anything, but to be quite honest with you. What's up, Misty? How you doing? Good. How are you? Fantastic. We're talking about Shannon bringing her dog to the CVS, but people who bring their animals everywhere. You saw something interesting.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I have a pet pig that goes with me everywhere.

00:09:06 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, come on. Really?

00:09:08 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

How big is your pig? Yeah. She's around 200 pounds.

00:09:13 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Like, is it like a pig pig or a guinea pig?

00:09:17 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 5:

No, a pig pig. She's like a cheek-up pig, but she's about 200 pounds. Oh, my God.

00:09:25 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 2:

Where do you live?

00:09:26 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 5:

She goes everywhere. Pontiac.

00:09:28 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. In Pontiac, this is all places. Really? You know what you need to do? You've got to take that pig down the aisle of Kroger where the bacon is served.

00:09:38 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I couldn't. Come on. I think she'd go for the Twinkies first.

00:09:42 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

No, this is what you got to do. And if you take a picture of this, I'll get you a prize or something. Take a picture of your pig just standing in front of the bacon section there at the grocery store and just see what people's reaction is to you being there. It'll be like, you know how they have...

00:10:00 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 3:

occasionally like where vendors will serve like samples yeah you can say that you're about ready to serve some samples there at the uh at the what's the closest there in pontiac is it the kroger there uh off of m59 or where what is it no it would be the meyers on brown road yeah okay all right so you got to do this go to the meyers and then have your pig just right there in front of all the Oscar Mayer stuff, okay?

00:10:29 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:10:30 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 3:

What do you do with a pig? Is it just something that you like to have as a pet or are you going to eventually sizzle that thing

00:10:37 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 4:

up? Oh, no. She will be my pet. My husband and my kids try to say that we're going to eat her, but that's not happening. She will be

00:10:44 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

pre-mated. How did you get this pig? How did that come about?

00:10:49 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 4:

I drove two hours to Benton Harbor to get her. I understand, but

00:10:52 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

what was the... Like, why a pig versus a dog?

00:10:57 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 4:

I have three dogs, but I've always wanted a pig. So she's been born and raised with three dogs. Okay. And I was just sitting with her.

00:11:05 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 3:

Who's the dominant of all the animals?

00:11:09 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 5:

She is.

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Man.

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 5:

That is funny.

00:11:12 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 3:

That's wild. So the pig owns you guys, huh? Oh, yeah.

00:11:15 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 4:

She sleeps in the bed with us and everything.

00:11:18 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 3:

Your pig sleeps in the bed with your poor husband.

00:11:21 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Trust me.

00:11:22 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 3:

Do you have, like, when you guys go on vacation, do you have a pig sitter? Like, do you have, like, somebody coming over and taking care of the pig?

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 4:

No, she goes with us.

00:11:32 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 3:

You bring the pig on an airplane?

00:11:36 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

No, we usually drive if we go. She goes with us.

00:11:39 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 3:

So if you're going to Cedar Point with your family, you'll take the pig with you?

00:11:45 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 4:

Not to Cedar Point because that's a lot of walk-ins, but my mother-in-law will stay at the house only for the day. But we only usually make a day trip, yeah.

00:11:53 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Keep Misty's number here just in case we ever need a pig for a bit, Lydia.

00:11:58 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she would love it. She loves everything. What's her name? Daisy Mae.

00:12:04 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

And how do you know that Daisy Mae is a Daisy Mae and not a Darren?

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 4:

She has lady parts.

00:12:14 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So you can – are they pretty – like I've never seen a pig's lady parts or boy parts.

00:12:19 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 4:

You can tell. And she's been fixed.

00:12:22 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever seen a pig's privates?

00:12:24 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that I've ever made a point to look. Take a picture of the pig's privates. No, no, no, we're good. I trust you. I trust you.

00:12:32 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 3:

A male's what?

00:12:33 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Male parts drag on the ground.

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 5:

Shoot, now I might look the next time I'm at Blake's.

00:12:40 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 2:

Shannon all of a sudden goes, wow. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:12:49 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh. Ari, this was the year that Zendaya and Tom Holland started dating.

00:12:54 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 1:

Don't talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible. We both feel very strongly that that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple.

00:13:03 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 3:

Britney Spears' conservatorship ended in this year.

00:13:07 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 5:

It just happened. Britney Spears finally free. The crowd outside the courthouse erupting after the news was revealed. Judge Brenda Penny saying this conservatorship is no longer required. It is terminated.

00:13:19 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 3:

And the big song. What year was this? We'll set you up with Jonas Brothers tickets. Good luck.

00:13:25 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 2:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844 Mojo Live.

00:13:31 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 3:

844-665-6548. Amy, what year was that?

00:13:38 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 4:

2021. Yes, yes, yes.

00:13:41 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations. We're going to set you up with a pair of tickets to go to Jonas Brothers. You're going to go see them. at Little Caesars Arena. Congratulations.

00:13:54 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

00:13:55 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. Hang on the phone for just one second. We'll get you set up with that. Oh, man. I feel like I'm damp right now. I feel like I'm still, like, walking into the building this morning. It even felt damp, didn't it? Like, the streets were all flooded yesterday.

00:14:11 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 5:

It's weird. We had no power in here, apparently, yesterday.

00:14:14 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. I was watching Bushman's social media, and he was watching some woman walk to her car. Yeah, that was kind of weird. It was, and he was doing the narration of the whole thing, and the whole time he was watching her walk to her car, I'm thinking to myself, this poor lady is trying to not hit the biggest puddles, and here is the radio guy trying to get social media posts out of it.

00:14:35 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 5:

Did he know her? Was that why? I don't think so.

00:14:37 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

I think she works across the street over at the meatpacking place. All right, we got a chance for you to win Tate McRae tickets. The show is this weekend. Text right now to win. Text CLOSE, C-L-O-S-E, to 95500 for your chance to win. That is CLOSE, C-L-O-S-E, to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:15:00 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Shannon, before you do your dirty, we have an iHeartRadio listener, somebody that's listening to us in Georgia, I understand. Is that right? Kelsey, are you there, Kelsey? Yes. Yes. Kelsey is turning 10 years old today. Kelsey, hi.

00:15:18 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 3:

Let's go, Kelsey. You're now double digits. I think I sent your mama a message on Instagram for you, too. Yeah. Yeah.

00:15:28 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 4:

Kelsey, who are you with right now? Is that dad in the background, or who's that in the background?

00:15:34 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 3:

My sisters and my dad.

00:15:35 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's happening? Put your dad on for one second. I feel weird talking to a 10-year-old on the phone.

00:15:41 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 3:

Without a parent on there as well.

00:15:43 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 4:

I feel like this is kind of creepy. Dad, are you there? Good morning. What's happening? What is your name, fine sir? David. I'm the guy that's playing video games with kids in the middle of the night. Any of those people that sit there on the phone or on video games with kids, I'm like, that is the weirdest thing ever. Happy birthday to your beautiful daughter, Kelsey. I hope you guys have good plans today. Where in Georgia are you guys? Dawsonville, North Georgia.

00:16:08 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, nice.

00:16:09 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 4:

Where's that? Is that close to anywhere I know? I don't know. Forsyth County coming. You said, oh, yeah, nice. How did you know? Have you been there before?

00:16:19 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, I mean, I used to live in Atlanta. It's outside the perimeter. It's not in Atlanta proper.

00:16:23 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 4:

Is it where the Dawson's Creek kids are? No. No? A couple hours north of Atlanta. Oh, okay. Well, cool. Well, happy birthday to Kelsey. I hope she has a great day. How did you find Mojo in the morning? My wife listens to you every day, so we've all heard it.

00:16:39 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, guys.

00:16:40 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, tell her we said thank you. Hold on. Well, I don't have nothing to give you because we have no prizes in Atlanta other than our love and affection. Hello to you guys.

00:16:49 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 3:

You can go on the iHeartRadio app and go to the podcast of This Dirty and you can save it. Kelsey can have it forever.

00:16:55 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 4:

And just know that we all get our peaches down in Georgia, just so you guys know that. Thank you. Yeah, she is very excited. Thank you, guys. Oh, you're so welcome. Zach, by the way, laughs at everything. And I'm realizing right now, Zach's like, hey, I'm going to hang out until 7. I'm like, maybe I should have him hang out until 10. He laughs at everything I say. It's wonderful.

00:17:12 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 3:

He's like the laugh track of the studio audience on the sitcom. I'm really missing you're hitting it today. I'm not that funny.

00:17:18 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 4:

No, you're good. Kevin would give me side eye with that one. Well, I like that one. All right, what do you got, Shannon? And this is dirty.

00:17:24 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, confirmed all of the Easter eggs were true. Taylor Swift will absolutely appear as the surprise guest on the New Heights podcast this week with Travis and Jason Kelsey. Such a nice color on you.

00:17:36 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I know. It's the color of your eyes, sweetie. That's why we match so well.

00:17:41 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 3:

We're about to do a podcast. Lots of flirting. She also announced that she is releasing some brand new music, a brand new album, in fact, TS-12. So I wanted to show you something.

00:17:52 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:17:52 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 2:

What do we got?

00:17:53 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 1:

We got a briefcase.

00:17:57 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

00:17:57 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 1:

Mick Green with TS on it.

00:17:59 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Yep. What's in it? This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

00:18:05 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 3:

No release date has been set yet, so I don't have that info for you, but the episode's set to air tomorrow at 7 p.m.

00:18:12 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic.

00:18:13 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 3:

I know you're not as excited as a lot of people are.

00:18:15 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm excited for new music. We just need something. We haven't had any good music in a while, so maybe Taylor will give us something good, please.

00:18:23 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 3:

I agree with you.

00:18:24 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 4:

Lydia is the one that's excited. And honestly, the other thing, too, is I'm excited because Lydia is excited.

00:18:29 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so nice.

00:18:31 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 4:

Not really, but that's...

00:18:32 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 2:

I knew that you were being a little sarcastic.

00:18:34 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 3:

We now have an official cause of death for Brandon Blackstock, talent manager and ex-husband of Kelly Clarkson. Died at 48 years old last week from melanoma, which is a form of skin cancer he had battled for three years. I told you that I believed that to be the case, and it was true. He passed away at his home in Montana, surrounded by family. He was in hospice care, leaves behind four kids, two with Kelly, two from a previous marriage, as well as a grandson. He was a grandpa at 48 years old. Wow. Yeah.

00:19:02 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 4:

Sad story. Sad that that's the case. Interesting, though. I wonder if Kelly is going to come out and talk a little bit about this. And will we hear how their relationship was towards the end of his life? Like, were they able to get past the you have some clip?

00:19:19 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I do. You just reminded me. So she, she had her Vegas, she did her Vegas residency for a little bit before she canceled it to be with her ex and their two kids. But there was one night where she got really, really emotional, um, talking about her song. What the heck was the name of the song? Peace by Peace? Peace by Peace. Yeah. So if you play the Kelly Clarkson clip, it's her talking about how she had to change the lyrics to the song for the residency because they just didn't make sense anymore.

00:19:47 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

This new lyric, it just represents kind of a, I don't know. i feel like we we grow up right and this is like the more grown-up version of it um and my favorite lyric and and why is because it's so important to know this is like

00:20:00 - 00:20:06 | Speaker 1:

we're taught whenever we're a kid i'm really trying to pull it together

00:20:07 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 3:

this was like three weeks ago that song by the way makes chelis really emotional because of it reminds her so much of you know her dad and situation so it was an anthem like about her

00:20:17 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 1:

ex-husband and it she changed it to be an anthem about like resilience and self-love this is the

00:20:23 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 3:

original version and this is what the new version of it yeah this is the one she did in Vegas I remember when she did that song on American Idol and got very emotional when she was doing it and then she was discussing her dad and her dad walking out on her life yep and Ryan the next morning ended up having her on the show because this thing went so viral and she discussed in such a way that anybody who's ever had a dad walk out on them could literally relate to the fact that as a kid, all you want to know is why. Was it me? And she said that that song and singing that song on American Idol gave her the peace to know that it really had nothing to do with her. It was all about the dad. It's wild. It's a really, really beautiful song. And lastly,

00:21:32 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 1:

some people who were hanging out, it kind of scares me that everybody knows where Drake lives specifically, but I mean, I guess it is known information. Yesterday, there's a maintenance worker outside of Drake's home into the Toronto area installing a Bell Canada payphone on the property, like a big, remember the old school payphone booths? Nobody knows why the video was set to his song Hotline Bling. I'm assuming it's some sort of promotional thing. He's aware everybody knows where he lives, but right now there is a payphone next to the driveway in front of the fence to Drake's property in Toronto, so we'll see what that means. the show now this is mojo in the morning all right it is mojo in the morning uh i can't believe that schools are set to be starting here like this week i mean school's pretty much going right back looking at everything that's happening uh it looks like this week there's a lot of schools uh that are going to be starting i think tomorrow and thursday in some of our listening areas Next week, I know that the Grand Rapids schools are going to be heading back to school. Toledo schools already be heading back, too. And then the majority of the Detroit schools will be heading back like on the 25th, I think, which is a Monday, as well as then the kids that are the lucky ones that don't have to go to school until right after Labor Day. That's fine. It's wild. College is starting. I know that you're going to have in your house a new college student with Wes's son starting.

00:23:25 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 1:

school yeah he leaves on Saturday is he excited he is so excited like beyond excited I have to tell

00:23:33 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 3:

you that I'm a little depressed at how excited Luke is too like it makes me think and I don't know if you guys feel this way you and Wes it makes me think that our house really sucks like what like what kid is excited about going back to school like what kid really wants to go back but then I think to myself why would you not you get to have zero rules at all while you're at school and he's gonna he's gonna experience this for the first time yeah well he said to us last night he's

00:23:58 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 1:

like I'm a little nervous but he said it with this big smile and he's like but I'm so excited so um Wes has a lot of feelings obviously because it's his baby you know it's his first going off to college that's a tough one and I saw um I saw Kieran's mom Wes's ex-wife Jen at church on Sunday and I gave her a hug and I go how are you feeling because I would be a puddle and she said actually she feels fine she had more feelings last this past year about him going into senior year she was more emotional about that than actually sending him off to school interesting because

00:24:31 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

yeah because it's you're experiencing the last yeah of things yeah um this is kind of wild 14 percent of people say that they are happy about school starting 16 say that they feel sad 51 percent of parents are happy about the kids going back to school that's wild how many parents are like you know half of them are but i think those have got to be the younger ones i think you're happy that the kids are going back to school because you're just tired of them doing nothing

00:25:00 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 1:

uh around the house like they're them just kind of like still it's like it even though it seems like this summer went by so fast i can't i feel like the last day of school was last week it's crazy um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i don't think we have any kids that are listening to the show right now i think that they're all probably sleeping in there's nobody but i want to know how many parents are happy about this and how many people are their kids are happy about this like they're happy about going back to school or how they how they feeling about uh getting back into the swing of getting back into school. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I can tell this with Luke. I can tell that it's starting to get to be a point where he's kind of pulling away a little bit because he knows that he's going to be going back. But I also think that the more that a school's about to start, which I don't even know how much he's ready because I know Chelsea and him were doing the whole target run today to get the last-minute things. And I think that he's at a point now where he's just like, all right, I guess this is happening. I'm going to be, you know, be out of here in just a matter of days because he gets keys to his place and he can move. He does. School doesn't start for another couple of weeks, but he gets the keys to his place, I think, on Monday. And he wants to move back like on Tuesday. Like that's how quick things are. What's up, Brittany? How you doing?

00:26:24 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning, Mojo. How are you?

00:26:26 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 1:

Good. Brittany, excited about school?

00:26:29 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm very nervous because my daughter, she is starting a brand new middle school. They just built it, and her class is the first class to start it this year, so I'm pretty nervous about that. Oh, that's wild.

00:26:40 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 1:

A brand new school.

00:26:44 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 3:

Hallie.

00:26:45 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's awesome. And you have a kindergartner, too? That's got to be a tough one for you. Is that sad, the baby's going?

00:26:51 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 3:

um i'm really sad because um like i have no kids at the daycare anymore so i have one in gsrp and i have one in kindergarten and then i got one in sixth grade see that's funny i would probably be

00:27:03 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 1:

happy that you don't have to worry about uh the daycare thing because that gets to be kind of expensive and a pain what's up daphne how are we feeling daphne

00:27:11 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 5:

daphne daphne i'm feeling good good morning mojo what's happening um Well, nothing, man, on my way to work, listening to you guys. But my household feels really good about going back to school because I know when they go to school, it's football season. Like, my son plays for Orchard View. We ready to bring this thing home. Let's go.

00:27:34 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

Let's go. All right. So they've been practicing probably in this heat, haven't they?

00:27:40 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they've been practicing nonstop, giving it all they got. Shout out to the coaches at OV.

00:27:46 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, I'm excited. Let's do it. Let's get moms in the stands screaming and yelling. What's going on, Nancy? How you doing?

00:27:53 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 2:

Good. How are you?

00:27:54 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 1:

Good. You're driving your kid to school now?

00:27:58 - 00:28:08 | Speaker 2:

What? Yep, right now. He starts today. Sophomores at Catholic Central start today with juniors and seniors. Freshmen started yesterday. Oh, my God.

00:28:08 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 1:

That is too early. That is wild. I know. So CC starts this fast, huh? Did you guys pay the headmasters or principals there to start earlier so you can get the kids the hell out of the house?

00:28:20 - 00:28:31 | Speaker 2:

No, I actually love my kid home. He's my one and only. He's a good kid. It's kind of sad because it's like the first, you only get to experience once, everything once.

00:28:31 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 1:

What's his name? We're going to shout him out.

00:28:34 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 2:

My name's Jacob.

00:28:34 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Jacob, have a great year, buddy. Thank you. This makes us feel old. You're the class of what?

00:28:42 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 2:

00:29:23 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 1:

00:29:30 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 4:

Yes, free summer camp.

I love it. Get them back so I don't have to feed them 18,000 times a day.

Hold on a second. And Sarah's sad that her kids are going back to school. Is that right, Sarah?

00:35:32 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm excited for them to learn, but I'm a little sad. I love my summer with my kids. I'm the same way.

00:35:38 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 4:

There's nothing better than summertime and not having to worry about putting them to bed, right?

00:35:44 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 6:

True. We have a lot of fun, though. We have a lot of fun.

00:35:47 - 00:35:49 | Speaker 4:

Was it a good summer? How would you rank this summer?

00:35:51 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 6:

I would say 9 out of 10.

00:35:53 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's nice. I like it. uh sarah lee is on the phone with us sarah lee what was your favorite do you ever heard do you ever eat sarah lee stuff oh yeah heck yeah put sarah lee in my uh my lunch box i was saying lunch stuff sarah lee is angry also about her kids going back to school but you're angry for

00:36:13 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 5:

a different reason right sarah lee uh yeah i'm angry because of the price of clothing and trying

00:36:20 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 4:

the shop with a 16 year old oh my gosh wow well you know what we got something good coming up here then for you we're going to be doing something really good to send kids back to school uh so be listening we'll have the details next week on the mojo in the morning show about that okay

00:36:36 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 5:

all right it's kind of hard to listen i'm out in the country so i get spotty service really can you

00:36:43 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 4:

can you get uh cell phone service and at least have us on the iheart radio app i do actually

00:36:49 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 5:

Unfortunately, it doesn't always work. iHeart doesn't always work. Oh.

00:36:55 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, that sucks. We've got to figure out what the reasoning is. Whereabouts are you?

00:36:59 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 5:

I actually live in a really small town called Silverwood. Okay. It's north of North Branch, about 15 minutes.

00:37:07 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to call my friend Elon Musk and see if I can get Starlink for you or something. I don't know. I'm not friends with Elon.

00:37:13 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, we do have Starlink available, but I use AT&T because Starlink is way too expensive for me.

00:37:18 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. I don't know Elon either, but I was just trying to fake that.

00:37:23 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate the try.

00:37:24 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 4:

What's the most expensive thing that you had to buy clothing-wise?

00:37:29 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 5:

Shoes. Definitely shoes.

00:37:32 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 4:

And you know what's going to... She goes through them. I don't know how old your kid is. How old's your kid? She's 16. Oh, I was going to say, if you have a kid that's younger than 16, by 16, they shouldn't be losing their shoes.

00:37:43 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. And she's not even in sports or anything. so I don't know how she goes through shoes, and it's so rough on them. Yeah.

00:37:51 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 4:

My kids used to forget jackets and coats and hats and shoes.

00:37:55 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 5:

She doesn't even wear them.

00:37:56 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 4:

You know what you do, Sarah Lee? Go to the lost and found and tell them that you lost shoes and just go through, look through the box, and do a little picking out of there.

00:38:05 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 5:

Well, she was homeschooled last year, so that would be hard.

00:38:08 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, there you go. There's the problem. You've been homeschooling the kids. They've been shoeless for the last how many years?

00:38:14 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, I guess so.

00:38:15 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm sorry. You're in the country right now.

00:38:18 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 5:

By the way, if I homeschooled my kids, they'd be as dumb as me.

00:38:23 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 4:

So that's why I can't do that. They would. Can you imagine my kids would be like, kids, we're going to do a thing called today math. I'm going to show you guys how that is. Let me see how you guys count how many little areas of grass that you're cutting right now. And then we'll add them up and subtract them by how long it took you to do it. That'd pretty much be my day.

00:38:44 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 7:

And now down to the homeschool parents, that has got to be a lot of work. My kids would never listen to me either if I was mom and teacher.

00:38:52 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, honestly, with how nutty schools are and how nutty it is nowadays where, you know, God forbid the violence and stuff like that. I'd want to homeschool and protect them forever. But he's cheating.

00:39:07 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 1:

Mojo on the Morning Show, your home of the War of the Roses. We're going to bust a cheater coming up here in just a little bit. I am starting to think that there is such an obsession that it is unhealthy. And that obsession is the obsession that our executive producer, Lydia, has with Taylor Swift. Because she has been, like, unable to talk to the last, I don't know how many hours now. It hasn't been long. It was after the show yesterday that she started getting the whole tease that Taylor Swift was coming out with something. Yeah. And then it's just gotten to a point now where I'm getting, like, inundated. I'm getting spammed with Taylor Swift stuff since Taylor Swift went on and teased or did the New Heights podcast. Which, by the way, when does that podcast get released?

00:41:16 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 5:

Tomorrow at 7 p.m.

00:41:17 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay. But we have the gist of it, which is Taylor's going to be on the podcast for the first time, right? Am I right in saying this to you, Lydia, the official fan of the Taylor Swift fan club?

00:41:28 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes. And that will be her first appearance on New Heights.

00:41:31 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 2:

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking, Lydia? I always forget.

00:41:34 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 4:

27.

00:41:35 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

She's 27 years old, and she's been to more than 27 Taylor Swift concerts.

00:41:40 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Just about. Is it really that many, Lydia? No. It's about like 17.

00:41:44 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 2:

17. Okay, still.

00:41:46 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh. That's a lot, yeah.

00:41:47 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 2:

She's been to 17 Taylor Swift concerts.

00:41:50 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:41:50 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 2:

As well as, besides concerts, you have traveled the world. You've gone to, you know, sneak into her mansions and places that we know of.

00:42:00 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 5:

Did I hear you this morning say you already bought merch for this new album that hasn't even come out yet?

00:42:04 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 4:

I did. So she dropped a vinyl, a cassette, and then a poster and a CD. So I just bought the poster and the CD. I'm 20 bucks into this new era.

00:42:14 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 2:

I think there's something wrong.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 4:

Why? What's wrong?

00:42:16 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 2:

I just think that there's, it's too much. Like it's gotten to a point now where I think you got to grow out of a phase. Like, I think every kid has a phase where they get excited over something. Like I remember when kids were like, people were really into like boy bands and stuff, but you grew out of it. And then eventually you would grow out of it and you'd become an adult and you would kind of have like normal life.

00:42:37 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 5:

Look at all of the women who, I mean, if I could go to Vegas right now and see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere, I would die and go to heaven. And I'm 42 years old.

00:42:47 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 2:

But you would die and go to heaven, but still you've lived a life where you haven't continued to follow them. How many Backstreet Boys concerts would you go to? Not 17, right?

00:42:58 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 5:

I mean, back in the day, I probably went to like 10.

00:43:02 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 2:

At 20? Really? You went to 10 Backstreet Boys concerts?

00:43:06 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, easily. Yeah. And I would drive for them.

00:43:10 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Well.

00:43:10 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys compare this to sports? Like, do you think that maybe you've gone to too many Lions games?

00:43:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 5:

I, well, why do you got it?

00:43:19 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 4:

It's like you're being a fan of something.

00:43:20 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 5:

Yes, that's a great comparison, Lydia.

00:43:22 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

You're a fan. You buy the merch. You want to watch it on TV. But that's. There's a documentary that comes out.

00:43:28 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 2:

That's something that hits any age. You know what I mean? That brings a city together. Taylor doesn't bring a city together.

00:43:33 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 4:

Are you kidding? You know how many people traveled here and how many people were banded together in the city of Detroit to see her? Come on.

00:43:40 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

Stop making sense. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is there anybody that thinks that there's a little bit too much of an obsession and this is the reason why Lydia cannot get on with her life? It's Taylor Swift is the reason. Or do we have other fellow Swifties out there? Or do people think that she's right and maybe she's not even as big a fan? Maybe you're bigger. Maybe you've been to more shows, Taylor Swift concerts, than Lydia has been. I can't believe you haven't changed her name yet. Wouldn't that be interesting if that's the next step? if Lydia all of a sudden changes her name to Taylor. Ashley, what's up? Hi.

00:44:20 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 6:

So, love you guys. Good morning. We love you too. All right. So, but, okay. So why is it not okay for Taylor, but it's okay for like Ozzy Osbourne, rest in peace?

00:44:33 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

No, that's worse than even Taylor. Listen, I think we're not, let's not go there because I will say to you, I think any obsession of going to this many things is off the charts. It's wrong. It's bad.

00:44:50 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 6:

I don't think it's wrong because there are much worse things that people could be doing with their time and money. Fantasy football.

00:44:57 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 2:

Why do you guys got to bring sports into this? Sports should not be left out of it.

00:45:03 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 5:

There's fantasy baseball. There's fantasy hockey. Well, I agree with you. It goes all crazy.

00:45:08 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

Guys that do fantasy hockey and fantasy baseball are morons. There's only one fantasy sport, and that's fantasy football.

00:45:15 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 1:

What about the guys that spend 11 hours a day playing video games?

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, they're also.

00:45:19 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 1:

That they used to play when they were, you know, in middle school. And they're 35 years old and still sit in front of the TV and play them all day.

00:45:25 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you. Losers. I don't do any of that stuff.

00:45:28 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 5:

I watch those people play those video games all day long.

00:45:32 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Listen, are you just a big Taylor Swift fan, and that's why you're doing it, or you're a big Lydia fan?

00:45:36 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely. I mean, I have a 7-year-old daughter that is now a self-proclaimed Swiftie, and we just can't afford to go to any of her concerts or anything. But I love her, but I would not say I'm a Swiftie. I just have a – we need more love in the world, not me.

00:45:56 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 2:

This is, by the way, bringing love in the world, you think? Is that what it is? Or making her rich?

00:46:02 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 5:

I'm not talking about Taylor. I'm just talking about people in general. Let people like what they like and do what they do and spend their money on stupid things instead of, you know, whatever needs to be spent on it.

00:46:14 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Let's make love, not bombs. What's going on, Jess? Hi.

00:46:19 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Well, so I've seen Patrick boys over 30 times. Whoa. Okay, that's impressive. Since I was, you know, like, 16. However, I can't afford to go to the sphere, and I'm totally dying for that.

00:46:36 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 1:

I know.

00:46:37 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 3:

But I will tell you a story of, like, being in high school, and, like, the day the Millennium Album dropped back in 99. Me and my friends rode our bikes to Meijer at, like, 4 in the morning before school just so we could get it.

00:46:55 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 2:

Did you ever do something like that, Lydia, for Taylor? Did you ever ride your bicycle somewhere to go and...

00:47:01 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hell no. I'm not getting on a bike. No, but it's... I mean, it's obviously... We're in 2025 now, but Lydia is the one who, if you know there's going to be a new merch drop, you are on your phone or computer.

00:47:14 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Ready to go. I leave everything aside. I leave alarms on. I do everything I can.

00:47:20 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Melissa, what's going on? We're talking about how Lydia has an unhealthy obsession with Taylor Swift.

00:47:26 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 6:

it's not unhealthy okay i've been to i've been to see since 2008 i can't even count how many times i've been to see new kids on the block in may 2008 i slept on the streets in new york to see them on the today show wow i've been to vegas i've been to toronto i'm from canada but i've been to toronto i've been to i've been on their cruise and in november they're doing a residency in vegas as well i'm going back to see them in vegas overnight that's it yeah wow so yes we leave at 10 o'clock sunday morning and we're back monday okay great just to speak them so lydia she has to live out her childhood whatever you know she's an adult now my i know but my thing is now that you're an adult you get to do what you want to do you don't have your parents telling you what to do you can live out your childhood by following the taylor swift around i follow new kids around you don't have the responsibilities of a kid right now do what you want to do good for

00:48:29 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 2:

you i just sit there and i think to myself that something was missing in her childhood and maybe her parents making her an only child ruined her like maybe that's the the issue here she needed siblings that could say no you're not going to another taylor swift concert and maybe i need to be that for you i need to be the older brother to tell you that this is ridiculous taylor swift anonymous what's going on alicia how you doing good how are you guys good i don't know if you heard this but taylor swift has retired she's no longer doing music we've got the exclusive right

00:49:03 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

now don't tell lydia what's going on actually lydia and i have uh actually really bonded over Taylor Swift and I think what it is the difference between Taylor and like all the other I guess you could say singers is that she sings about stuff at the same time as we're going through it like us as women now are really close in age to her and so when Taylor was going through breakups and being cheated on so were we when she was feeling unwanted so were we and that's something that we could look to somebody that you know felt like we did um but then also she it feels like she brings a lot of um like love into this world i went to vienna last summer to try to go to one of her well i had tickets to her concert and that was the shows that got canceled because of the terrorist attack and that was almost exactly a year ago wow and i was in this facebook group um

00:50:00 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 1:

And everybody started messaging each other this year saying, you guys are in my thoughts. You guys, we're going to, you know, we're like, it really brought these people of all ages, all genders from around the world together. And it's, I know it sounds like hippie dippy stuff, but it, it, it's nice to have it.

00:50:20 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I think we need a therapist for you and Lydia to get through all your emotional baggage that you guys both have. And I think that Taylor, for some reason, is what you guys are thinking is getting you through it, but you're not getting through it. She doesn't care about you guys. She just cares about making money. What's going on, Angie? Hi, how are you?

00:50:44 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning. I love you guys. Good morning.

00:50:47 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too.

00:50:48 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, and actually, Mojo, I am a therapist, so that's kind of interesting you just said that. I'm just wondering, how many rounds of golf per week? Oh, my God, I love you.

00:51:00 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 2:

No, come on. Now you got me.

00:51:02 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 4:

Is that a certain threshold there? No, no, no. How much money have you dropped on golf clubs and golf outfits? That's exercise.

00:51:09 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing exercise. I'm not. Come on.

00:51:13 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 4:

That sounds like self-care. That is self-care and self-love. By the way. Just like Taylor Swift.

00:51:17 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 2:

I would never want you as my therapist. You make too much sense. I don't like this one. I'm worried, though. What's going to happen? We're going to need you, Angie, when Taylor Swift decides that she's leaving the music world and Lydia doesn't have something to spend all her money on. What is she going to do next?

00:51:34 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 4:

She will find something else. People will always find something else to spend their money on. You're right. And that will just give her an opportunity to grow through that. And that's what people do because we are resilient.

00:51:43 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You make way too much sense. All right. Thank you, Angie.

00:51:47 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 4:

I know, I hate it too

00:51:49 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 2:

We love you too, take care

00:51:50 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 4:

Hey, it's Taylor Swift with Mojo in the Morning

00:51:53 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 2:

Ugh, yuck Alright Well, you know what, if Taylor can guarantee That she'll give us the ratings that we got back in What was it, 2023 was it? 2022 If she can give us those ratings That she gave us in 2022 By doing a tour and all the rest of that stuff Then I'll be okay with it But if we don't get it, then I'm still gonna be

00:52:16 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 1:

having issues my job no listen there we go see i took it too far now no lydia by the way this is

00:52:23 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 2:

00:53:47 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, Swifties are rejoicing this morning. Taylor Swift making her debut on the New Heights podcast. Such a nice color on you.

00:53:55 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I know. It's the color of your eyes, sweetie. That's why we match so well.

00:54:01 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 3:

podcast. Sweet. The episode is set to air tomorrow at 7 p.m. And the confirmation that Travis and Jason's special guest was indeed Taylor came after Swifties had all sorts of theories as to why she was the guest. All of them made a ton of sense to me, by the way. For starters, the episode dropping on the 13th, which of course is Taylor's favorite number. Second of all, Jason Kelsey was actually wearing a t-shirt in the teaser with Taylor's face on it. On top of that, fans noticed that The background of the graphic teasing the new episode was orange glitter, and usually it's a yellow background, and orange is the color of the outfit that Taylor wore during her era's tour when she said, see you in the next era.

00:54:45 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

This is unbelievable.

00:54:46 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

So all these things led to tomorrow. This is amazing. And we know she's dropping her 12th album.

00:54:52 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest? Do you think she does this all herself, or she's got people that do all this and say, all right, Taylor, do this? Like, does she script all this stuff?

00:55:00 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

out through the help of writers or is taylor the one going this is what i'm going to do like because

00:55:05 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 1:

i'll be honest a lot of it is her but i'm sure she has a team i think so too if you look back

00:55:10 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 2:

at her letter announcement when she announced she was owning her masters she put the word

00:55:15 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 1:

this close like this with 12 eyes how dare she yeah i mean everything is so just intangible

00:55:25 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 3:

i just don't know how she's doing this all herself this is just too exhausting that she's

00:55:29 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 2:

got to come up with this much stuff so i wanted to show you something okay what do we got we got uh a briefcase yep make green with ts on it yep what's in it this is my brand new album

00:55:42 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 1:

the life of a show girl i was thinking about this on the way into work this morning think there were probably very few people who knew well i guess there had to be a lot of people i mean she's probably almost done if not already done recording this album to keep that secret you know what i mean like if that gets out that's like she she does everything she can to keep these this very very secret until she's ready to make that announcement to a lot of people well she'd

00:56:08 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 3:

probably sue you and take away your life if she does everybody else if you gave up but like how

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 1:

does how does travis not even slip to somebody that he knows because he knows he he doesn't

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 3:

have enough money in the world to fight one of her lawsuits in a brand new interview with vanity

00:56:23 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 1:

fair Jennifer Aniston talked about all sorts of stuff she was recalling the love triangle her words between herself Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie remember that when they were doing that movie Mr. Mrs. Smith together and everybody knew something was going on and then in 2005 Jen and Brad called it quits it was everywhere and of that media frenzy Jennifer Aniston said it was such juicy reading for people if they didn't have their soap operas they had the tabloids and she said it was a shame it had to happen but it happened and she did take it personally and she wasn't prepared for what everybody had to say and she said look even celebrities were human beings but fans think well you signed up for it so you should just take it and she said we didn't really sign up for that piece of this she also shared that she and her ex Gwyneth Paltrow still gossiped about their shared ex Brad Pitt saying how can we not we're girls but now they've kind of become friends so the things they've talked they're talking about currently aren't necessarily brad it's like do you have a new doctor like who do you recommend it's turned into that and she also talked about her friends co-star matthew perry the late matthew perry and she said that she and really the rest of the friends cast had been mentally mourning matthew long before he died and she said if you know anybody that has that sort of addiction that severe that severe of addiction it felt like a slow goodbye so they she was saying she knew that this was going to happen all along and she said there's you know his his passing in 2023 was deeply painful but there was solace in knowing that he

00:58:01 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 3:

is finally free from all of the suffering it's nice to know though that that whole cast still liked each other you know what i mean oh i think they're pretty tight-knit i don't think that was for a show and that that's that's pretty cool because usually in this day and age you don't see that with shows there's always some jealousy that takes place yeah yeah i remember when they used to do their negotiations for their contracts they all were like we want to all make pretty much the same amount of money and they wanted to pay david schwimmer more than anybody else and all of the people on the show go yeah he deserves it because he kind of came up with a lot of the concept and stuff with the writers so yeah yeah it's interesting to see that yeah and lastly

00:58:40 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 1:

machine then kelly finally speaking out about all of the rumors that he is hooking up with sydney sweeney really i didn't know this he was on watch what happened well it started when they were i mean they're both single single they were spotted in vegas like hugging a couple of weeks ago and so you know of course everybody assumes but this was from watch what happens live last

00:58:57 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 2:

night kyle p wants to know if there's any truth to the rumor you and sydney sweeney were more than just friends. Kyle P. Shut up, dude.

00:59:07 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, okay. Is that a new answer? What do you think? I don't know. Interesting. I don't think so. Sydney Sweeney.

00:59:12 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 1:

She hugs somebody and all of a sudden they're sleeping with each other. Have you seen the

00:59:16 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 3:

sorority girl Sydney Sweeney videos that are all out there right now? No. All the sororities in the SEC, schools like Alabama and Auburn, where these sorority girls are doing Sydney Sweeney dances and they're all wearing the shorts.

00:59:30 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 1:

00:59:57 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:00:00 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 2:

Santa, we want to send you to Florida. We want you to win this thing. You got a $50 check, and then you're qualified for this. If you're the grand prize winner, you'll win a trip for two to Clearwater Beach, Florida, stay at Shepard's Beach Resort, enjoy the sunset and the gulf aboard the Starship's Yacht Sunset Dinner Cruise, see dolphins at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, And then have dinner and drinks at Salty's Island Bar and Grill. And it's all brought to you by Visit Florida. Good luck to you on winning that grand prize, which we'll pick the winner for that after we grab five qualifiers. Okay, your qualifier number two.

01:00:41 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 5:

Thanks so much, Mojo.

01:00:43 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you so much. We appreciate you so much. Wouldn't that be nice to take when the weather changes here?

01:00:48 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, oh my gosh. And I've never been to Clearwater. I've been to Florida, but never Clearwater. So that will be a good experience to go to. It's gorgeous. I hope I win.

01:00:55 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's really, really gorgeous. Actually, did you know that the Clearwater Beach voted the number one beach in the world?

01:01:02 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, I did not know that. That's awesome.

01:01:04 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 2:

White, sandy beaches. Congratulations. Hang on the phone, and we'll get your information from you, and we will hopefully have you as our Visit Florida winner. We're going to do War of the Roses right now. If you think that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500, and we will get you on the show just like we're getting this husband on the show.

01:01:24 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Oh, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:30 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

John thinks his wife is cheating on him. And why is that, John?

01:01:36 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 4:

So she's got a UTI.

01:01:41 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:01:41 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 4:

And that's not something she usually gets, really, unless she's been active in a certain way, and we haven't been active like that for about a month now.

01:01:57 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 2:

So you think that because she has a UTI that she's been sexually active with somebody else other than you since you guys aren't together?

01:02:04 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 1:

But you can get a UTI from a lot of different things. Like, I understand sex is usually the main cause of it, but that's not just the only way.

01:02:12 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

Why would you say you guys are not having sex? What's the reasoning for that?

01:02:18 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 4:

We just got in a fight a little while ago regarding some family stuff. And now we're just, we're not having a good time. And she, I don't know. It's just kind of what it seems like right now. I'm not having a good time.

01:02:36 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 2:

John, why all of a sudden do you think that this ex of hers is in her life?

01:02:43 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Because I've seen missed calls from him. And I've seen missed calls that she hasn't taken from him.

01:02:49 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 2:

so is this unusual that they still communicate with each other

01:02:55 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 4:

at for for the amount that they are yeah you know they would talk here and there but now it seems like they're talking quite a bit lately and you know they wouldn't be doing that if it

01:03:07 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 2:

were if it was just friendship so john you gave us the number of your wife's ex and you want us to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. This would be very wild, because usually it's somebody that's on the phone testing out their spouse. You're actually testing out your spouse's ex. I mean, but he's still

01:03:34 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 1:

testing his spouse. Yeah.

01:03:36 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Alright, we're doing the War of the Roses this morning, and this is going to be very, very awkward to be able to tell this guy that we have a husband on the phone that thinks that his wife is messing around with him. Mute your phone and we're hoping that this guy does not send flowers to Belle who is John's wife. It's War of the Roses.

01:04:15 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 1:

hello hi is this kaden yeah hi kaden my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses it's a promotional offer totally free and the flowers will go out a little bit later on this

01:04:40 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 3:

afternoon yeah if you can make it quick sure okay have you purchased flowers in the last six months

01:04:48 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 1:

um no do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months no not really okay as a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So, again, they go out today, a little bit later on, and I just need a first and a last name of who you would like these to go to. And they can be out of state.

01:05:17 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 6:

Sure. Lana, L-A-N-A.

01:05:22 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and a last name? Okay, do you know her phone number?

01:05:26 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 6:

yeah um it's

01:05:31 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 1:

seven okay in her relationship to you it's my wife okay okay kaden we're gonna send those flowers off you can expect to receive them uh later this afternoon like i said and i just need really quickly to let you know that this call was being recorded for quality and training purposes Are you okay with that?

01:05:57 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:05:59 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And we'll be sending you some information about some specials that we have really, really soon, okay?

01:06:08 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:06:09 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay, thanks, Caden.

01:06:11 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure.

01:06:13 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Bye-bye. Thank you.

01:06:17 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 3:

John. Hey-o. Send him to his wife.

01:06:24 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 4:

i i mean that guy sounds frank from everything i i'm to understand he's a bit of a loser so if he's sending it to her good for her i hope so i hope i hope this steers things on the right track and that she she's true i mean he sounds like a bit of a mess so hopefully it's it's it's better you know this puts things kind of at ease for me a little bit at least well i don't know

01:06:52 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 3:

how at ease it's going to be because your wife is on the other line. Really? We had to call her up because we had to let her know what was going on. And we wanted to let her know kind of what we were doing by calling him up. And hold on one second, okay? Okay. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:07:22 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm here.

01:07:31 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 3:

Bell, say hi to John. Hi. Bell, say hi.

01:07:39 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:07:42 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 3:

Bell, John contacted us here because he was worried that something was going on, that maybe you were still kind of close to an ex of yours? No. What's that? I'm sorry?

01:08:02 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 6:

No. I don't know what he's talking about. Absolutely not.

01:08:07 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, we were just trying to see what kind of relationship you do have with your ex, Caden.

01:08:17 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 6:

there's no relationship did you not just hear what i said no relationship at all there's nothing absolutely nothing going on do you still doing anything do you still talk to him

01:08:29 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 1:

not really that's the path does he ever try to reach out does he ever try to reach out to you

01:08:35 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 3:

sometimes and it's not that serious do you talk to him when he does reach out to you sometimes and is it just a friendship that you guys have or do you guys have uh nothing at all

01:08:52 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 5:

it's nobody's business that was a long time ago that's the past why are we focusing on the past he's in the past my husband is my present and my future

01:09:05 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 3:

And John, do you want to say anything?

01:09:10 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 4:

It's very reassuring to hear You know You know me I get really in my own head And I can't see past my own feet Sometimes I'm happy to hear That she's committed to this

01:09:26 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 6:

Why would you not think I love you?

01:09:32 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't know

01:09:32 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to put you guys on hold right now and let you guys just have a conversation with each other. And you guys probably have a little bit more talking that you should do. Hold on one second. We think he's just a guy that has a jealousy issue. And maybe their struggles that they're going through right now is making...

01:10:00 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 1:

Or do we think that there was a little bit of defensiveness on her part when she was asked about her ex? I don't know. There's a lot of thoughts. And I'd love to know what your thoughts were. You, Shannon, and the listeners. We'll take some calls. Hold on one second.

01:10:20 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 3:

01:10:30 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 1:

where are the roses and a husband jealous and suspicious that his wife is cheating because they've been getting into fights with each other haven't had sex in a while he said that she's got a uti he thinks that she got that through sex could you explain that to me by the way because i that is a thing i mean if you have a lot of sex i have a wife but i don't understand the whole thing. You have a lot of sex

01:10:57 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

you know it's a bacteria thing you can develop a UTI but you can develop a UTI from like being dehydrated being constipated there's like a lot of but that is like I would I'm not a doctor I would say that's probably the most common way to get one to me I get where John is coming from in being uneasy that a lot of these things when you put them together look kind of like if I looked at Wes's phone and he had a ton of missed calls from his ex-wife would I go what is happening and raise an eyebrow yeah that being said he very they very specifically said there were a lot of missed calls and ones that she hasn't taken so to me that that that showed that her ex is trying to reach out to her but she's not answering the phone calls do you know what I mean so that's kind of more on the ex-husband who's married we heard him send flowers to his wife but that's more on the ex-husband why does he continue to reach out but she's not picking up his phone call lydia bianca is this

01:12:02 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 1:

an ex-husband or is this an ex ex sorry i'm just assuming i know what what do we have here do we

01:12:08 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 2:

know it is just like an ex-relationship i don't think they were married so they were never married okay do you see what i mean like if he's calling and calling and calling and calling fine that's on him but the way that he made it sound she's not answering but you don't think though that

01:12:22 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 1:

even if she's not answering, she could say, this guy, my ex tell her husband, my ex keeps calling me, why does he keep calling me?

01:12:30 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 2:

And that's a huge piece of it, absolutely.

01:12:32 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 1:

Danny, I want to know what your thoughts are. Danny, hi. Good morning, Mojo. Good morning, everyone. Good morning.

01:12:39 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm surprised. How come you guys didn't do a two-way call?

01:12:41 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you mean a three-way call. So were we three-way calling them? The reason was, he did not want to do that. And at first, he didn't

01:12:49 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

I think he would have found out the information if you guys

01:12:52 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 1:

did that well can i tell you something he did not want us to bring her into this at all we could never ever do this war of the roses if we didn't have her to be part of this because to be quite honest with you that would be just us calling him up seeing where he sends the flowers to he sends him there and going okay good i think that we always had to have you know uh her involved in this and you're right a three-way call would have been better doing it but i think we thought that he was going to send the flowers to his girlfriend or this girl, to Belle.

01:13:27 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Did we know that he was married before you guys made the call or no?

01:13:29 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, no, I didn't have a clue about that. Neither did our producers have a clue. Love you guys, man. Hey, we love you too, buddy. Listen, I'm going to be quite honest with you. It was one of those ones where it was like fly by the seat of your pants. But then also, if it wasn't for the reaction that John's wife, Belle, gave to the whole, hey, we called your ex, and she got kind of defensive, I don't even think we would air this. I think it would be a non-War of the Roses. What's going on, David?

01:14:05 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how you doing?

01:14:06 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 1:

Good, man. War of the Roses. Comments here.

01:14:09 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, man. I think she's got something else going on. And she's still talking to her ex. And I don't know. I don't think he's overthinking it at all. I think there's something else going on.

01:14:19 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 1:

Does that come from the way that she reacted?

01:14:23 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, kind of. I mean, she admitted that they still talk, and it's nobody else's business. I think that's pretty shady. Yeah.

01:14:31 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

She also, to me, I don't know what to think about this one, but she also, to me, sounded very exasperated and frustrated when she kept saying, this was my past, this was my past, this was my past. Like, John has been constantly, you know, on her about something else going on.

01:14:47 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I think you're giving her too much credit.

01:14:50 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I actually don't sway one way or the other on this one.

01:14:53 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 1:

Alex, what's up? Your thoughts? Hi, Alex. Is your name Alex, or is your name not Alex? I don't know.

01:15:04 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my name is Alex.

01:15:06 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, your name is Alex. What's happening, Alex? Alex. And you have an accent, too. I love it. What's going on, sexy accent guy?

01:15:14 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 3:

Yep. Not much. Just commenting on the...

01:15:18 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:15:19 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead.

01:15:19 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? Go ahead. You're on the radio right now. What's happening?

01:15:24 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 3:

All right. This is my first time, but yeah. Hey!

01:15:29 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just want to say that she's got to be cheating.

01:15:37 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Because?

01:15:39 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

She jumped to conclusions too quick. I didn't like it.

01:15:42 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

I felt the same way, too. I felt like she got so defensive. Don't you think so, Alex? Yeah. Alex, you're killing me. You're killing me.

01:15:55 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Today, Junior!

01:15:56 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Alex, thank you for the call, Alex.

01:16:03 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:16:04 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Lee, what's up, Lee? Hey, what's going on, Mojo? Well, aside from the fact that Alex almost put me to sleep there, what's going on?

01:16:17 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, man. I feel like he kind of double-crossed down there. I don't think he should have told his wife. I feel like he probably texted every guy and warned him. Because he was so quick to just say, oh, yeah, this is her and my wife.

01:16:30 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Wait, but we didn't contact his wife, though, until after he sent the flowers. No, John's wife? Yeah, we did not contact Bell until after her ex sent the flowers to his wife, just so you know that.

01:16:45 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, all right. All right, well, from my end, listen, I thought you talked about that.

01:16:50 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, no, no, no. Just, just, just so you know, we, we contacted after the flowers went to, uh, this guy, what's the guy's name? Caden. Yeah. After Caden sent flowers to his wife and we, you know, talked, it was, all right, get Bella on the phone. Cause now we got to confront her and see what, what she thinks of this whole thing. So.

01:17:08 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay. Yeah. I still didn't like her reaction though. You know, she was real sad off. It's like, I don't want to talk about my ex. Like if it was just in there, she wouldn't have a problem with, you know, talking about her ex or it being closer, you know, she would say what it is.

01:17:20 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I appreciate you, Colin, in saying this because I think that, you know, you're right. It does sound like we double-crossed, like you said, you know, John and this one here. But we have to kind of explain that, and I probably needed to explain it more, that after he sent the flowers, the ex sent the flowers to his wife, we were like, all right, we got to get her on the phone. By the way, you notice all guys calling. I love this, man. We're going to have guy ratings this month. i'm excited ali what's up ali another guy welcome to to hey good morning guys 95.5 what's going on hey good morning how you guys doing fantastic what's your thoughts ali yeah i i kind of feel

01:18:03 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 4:

sorry for the dude because she's 100 playing him uh i mean it went from when you guys brought up hey you talk to him she said absolutely not to oh sometimes to maybe to none of your business and then i feel like at the end of it she tried to divert it by saying oh why do you think i don't love you instead of saying hey why do you think i'm unfaithful a whole lot of it was really weird and i kind of feel sorry for me but there's something going on whether it's with her ex

01:18:27 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

or someone else what's with the missed calls though that's the piece i can't wrap my brain around is if she's not answering these phone calls like that to me just sticks out his number

01:18:37 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 4:

too like i don't think we asked him i don't think we asked him enough questions regarding that i mean he did say i i kind of did hear him when he did say oh like i saw some calls that were missed and some other calls, but I don't know if he said she answered or not.

01:18:51 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 2:

He said one she hadn't taken.

01:18:54 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's what he said. I mean, maybe that's what he saw, but I think you'd have to ask him more questions regarding that. If he's calling, they're definitely talking, because why else would he be calling her? And I think he sees it. He knows what's going on, and he just doesn't want to take that step or he's afraid to make it.

01:19:13 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 1:

And, Ali, we got to trust a guy's intuition like we trust women's intuition. Women always say in War of the Roses, you got to trust a woman's intuition, a woman's gut. If we're not letting the guys also have that, then we're totally double standard in this one. And I think people have.

01:19:29 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, 100 percent, Mojo. And like I said, I believe the right flag in this situation was her trying to divert it by saying, why do you think I don't love you? Instead of her saying, why would you think I'm not faithful to you? And I think that would be it for me, 100 percent.

01:19:40 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Ali. Appreciate you. By the way. Hey, no problem. Ali, should I allow it be all guys calling in, or should I take a woman's call here right now? Oh, it's okay to hear both sides. No, no, no, I kind of like this. I kind of like this, though. This is Shannon. Shannon, this is enjoyable for you, hanging out with a bunch of guys today? No, I actually want to hear the female perspective. Toya, what's up, Toya?

01:20:00 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:20:01 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 1:

Hey, y'all. What's up? Good morning. Y'all holding it down this week. Y'all doing a good job. Thank you, Toya.

01:20:06 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 5:

What do you think, Toya?

01:20:07 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 1:

You're welcome. I agree with the other caller, with what the other folks said. And this is my thing. You're married, right? Why are you even communicating with an ex? It don't sound like y'all got kids. It don't sound like y'all share a dog. It don't sound like y'all got to split deals. Why are you even talking to him in the first place? So I think, like I said, like I said, it is a red flag because you don't need to be communicating with him. And miscalls or not, I think Shannon, maybe she was busy to answer, but then she's calling him back. You know, so they are definitely communicating, and it is a red flag. And I hope, I think John is his name. I hope he figured that out real soon.

01:20:46 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 5:

Toya, you're the best. I'm glad we added you to the call. Jenna, is it Janice? Janice? Janice. What is it? Is it Janice? that was janice janice yeah i was right it's spelled phonetically on my board oh okay i thought

01:21:02 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 2:

it was j-a-n-i-c-e i'm like that's janice what's going on janice so i had a really gut feeling that if you guys contacted the wife would she would would she have had the opportunity to contact Yeah, but we didn't.

01:21:24 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 3:

Right, we didn't do it in that order.

01:21:26 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 5:

And we didn't. We actually contacted her after he had already sent the flowers off, so he had no indication that we were calling. Unless he's a listener, which he could be a listener.

01:21:36 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, I wondered because I just felt like it wasn't very genuine. I just felt like there's more to it, and she was a little defensive. So I just feel like there's a little more to it. She was aware that she had the feeling that she might want to pursue it, that she was just being defensive and blowing it off.

01:21:57 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 5:

And you know what? You could be right. I mean, I'll have to go back and listen to when Shannon called and talked to him. How did he sound when he sent the flowers right away to his wife? Could be he was a listener. Brianna, last call on this one. What's going on?

01:22:10 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you guys?

01:22:12 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 5:

We're good, Brianna. What are your thoughts on War of the Roses?

01:22:14 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so did anybody notice that when you guys called him, he called her his girlfriend? And then when you got the wife on the phone, she said that was his wife. I was completely shocked. I think he has a girlfriend, and I think that he was expecting that guy to send flowers to his girlfriend. But then you got the wife on the phone, and he was a little shocked. Like, he found it a little rattled that she kind of popped in and was like, hey.

01:22:42 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. No, it I'm telling you, I think we got more to explore, Brianna. What are your thoughts?

01:22:49 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 3:

I definitely do, because I'm not going to lie. I've been that person that stayed friends with their exes while they were in a relationship. I always have. But my current boyfriend that I've been with for four years now, he did not like it. He was not a fan at all. And pretty much it was like pick the boyfriends or pick me. So I let it go and I don't talk to my ex-boyfriends anymore. But I still feel pretty strongly about the fact that you can be friends with an ex. Like, if you end on good terms and you were friends beforehand, who says that you can't? So I used to get really defensive as well when my boyfriends would accuse me or get angry and say, like, hey, Adam, why are you talking to your ex? That's weird. But, like, they were my friends. So I was like, you need to understand. Like, I was friends with this person for two years before we started dating. Like, I'm not just going to drop them.

01:23:36 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I got to figure out what the level is of this because I don't trust any guys. But I also agree with you. I agree that you can be friends with exes.

01:23:45 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 4:

All right, WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:24:17 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

01:24:19 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:21 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:24:26 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 3:

Let's go.

01:24:27 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 4:

It's showtime.

01:24:29 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

All right, coming up here this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show, So the booty call to the boss, Bianca's going to talk about that. She actually kind of booty called Tony, our boss. It's a weird story. I want to tell a story about a friend of mine and ask, is it weird that I got a creepy guy friend of mine that's going to see Tate McCray? And Shannon with an update on the house all coming up this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show. So stick around for that. Plus, Tate McCray tickets. We'll have those.

01:25:00 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 1:

for you at 8 30 this morning and be listening tomorrow again at 7 30 for a chance to go to Florida. I want this texter on. Can you get this texter on that I saw during the War of the Roses 517 that says, speaking of cheating, I saw Mojo on the T app with the eyes like that. What are

01:25:17 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 2:

those eyes called? The shocked eyes? They sent me the screenshot. So I asked what exactly they were talking about. I want to see it. I'm going to send it to you. Do you have it? I do. Yeah.

01:25:28 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 1:

I knew for a fact that this was going to end up happening, that we were going to get on the T-app somehow, and I wanted to get on that.

01:25:35 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait, for what? It's in the group chat. I sent you the original screenshot, and then I zoomed in.

01:25:39 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait a second. Look at the picture they picked. I know. They picked that horrible picture. Why did they pick the horrible picture of me on the- The whole face picture? Oh, and my favorite is they- Thank you, by the way, to the T-app people. I would like to thank the TIA people for calling me 49 years old, too. They made me a little younger.

01:26:03 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 4:

You got 14 red flags.

01:26:05 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:26:06 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:26:10 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. This is great. What am I saying here? Okay. Wow. Cheating at, it says here, at morning show boot camp. Uh-huh. Wow. I was freshly divorced. By the way, can I ask a question about the T app thing? Do you never, you don't get to see who the person is that put the post up there? Because I got a feeling that this post app is from a former employee maybe of the show that maybe is upset.

01:26:42 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 2:

Is this the closest clues you can see right under the city name? That's what I was going to ask. Yes. Oh, okay. So that's like a fake.

01:26:49 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 1:

So where's the seat? Where's the?

01:26:50 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 2:

It says Detroit, Michigan. and then under, it says the username. So how do you know who that is? You'll never know. You'll never know. Yeah, that's the problem.

01:26:59 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's crazy. Well, thank you for making me 49, but please pick a better picture.

01:27:05 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 4:

Look at that picture of me. I'm going to be very honest. That is not a flattering photo with you whatsoever. No, it's not.

01:27:10 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 1:

We got to figure out who we did. Not even a little bit. No. This pisses me off. Man. You know what's funny is that this came up, or it looks like it's a fairly new picture. Do you think this came up after the whole tea wore the roses that we did? Maybe. And maybe it's the people, the tea people or somebody that's on there that's pissed that we called out the tea app for a little bit?

01:27:32 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 2:

Possibly. But I don't think you have any comments on there. I don't think anyone else is commenting on you. No, he just has the red flags.

01:27:37 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 1:

What does that mean? What does the green flag, red flags mean?

01:27:40 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

There are people who think you are a red flag more than a green flag.

01:27:43 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, son of a...

01:27:44 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 4:

The green flag is he's a good guy. He's safe. Go ahead and date him. Yep. Okay.

01:27:48 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 1:

So will you guys do me a favor? I know this is weird to ask you to go out there and do a green flag. Can you guys give me some green flags on this thing?

01:27:55 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 4:

Are you asking for likes right now?

01:27:57 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 1:

I would like some green flags.

01:28:00 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm saying it's the same thing.

01:28:02 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? It's a like or a dislike? Madison, you were the one that saw this on there?

01:28:08 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 3:

I did see this on there, and there are comments. And I commented, I said, no way, my mojo.

01:28:14 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Why did you not, though, give me a green flag then?

01:28:19 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 3:

I did. There's two green flags. No. There's two green flags, and there are comments.

01:28:25 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 2:

I can read them to you. No.

01:28:26 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

No. I want to read them. I don't know.

01:28:29 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 2:

Madison, can you send the screenshots?

01:28:31 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what do the green ones say?

01:28:34 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 2:

So, hold on.

01:28:35 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Let me go on to it, because I'm driving, actually, to work. And I took the picture off my daughter's iPad because me and my boyfriend watch and listen.

01:28:46 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 4:

Wait, why are you on the tee-up? if you have a boyfriend? Aren't you supposed to be only on there if you're, like, single or thinking about dating somebody?

01:28:52 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 3:

No, I just, like, I'm nosy. I'm a nosy person. Oh, okay. I see everyone that's on there. My friends, we have, like, not good relationships, but people are like, this is not my bingo card. Damn, I said, oh, my God, no way. There's no way. Someone said, not Mojo. Someone said, he's DL, or at least curious. I know for sure. can't give detail because i was the only other person in the room if you're close to him go through every inch someone said something about shannon they said that show gives me the if they overshare too much i know so many personal details about shannon someone said not in the morning someone said omg this is wild and then someone put the popcorn things and then someone said are you the woman if so years ago i wouldn't be surprised if his wife knows there's old news Call Chelsea and let's ask Chelsea if she posted this.

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I would like to know if my wife.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 2:

of this on there, too. Hold on. Mallory, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:30:05 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, Mojo. How are you? First time, long time.

01:30:07 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mallory's on the phone. Kevin's off this week, by the way. Mallory, I made the tea up.

01:30:14 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 7:

I sent Shannon a Christmas card. I mean, I've been with you guys for years. Aw, thank you.

01:30:18 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Well, are you, quick question. Can you green flag me, please? I need a green flag on here.

01:30:25 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 7:

You do. Okay, you do have, now you have two green flags, but now you're up to nine. Oh, my God.

01:30:33 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 2:

So this is actually a new post that was just posted, though.

01:30:37 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, 34 comments, by the way.

01:30:39 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Well, now people are hearing us talk about it, too.

01:30:43 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 7:

One person did say that you do like to have sex with your dog. That was one of the comments. Oh.

01:30:49 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, there may be something to that. Hold on a second. I do snuggle with Henry.

01:30:56 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 7:

Okay, now this comment, I don't know if they read it already, But this comment was kind of, it says, I know this is for sure. I can't give details because I was the only other person in the room when this was revealed.

01:31:07 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we read that one. She just read that a second ago. We got to figure out who that person is. So hold on a real quick, Mallory. Hang on. My wife's on the phone right now. Chelsea.

01:31:18 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Did you know that your husband's having sex with your dog?

01:31:23 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that, but I'm reading that he cheated on me in boot camp. I'm just trying to catch up on this.

01:31:30 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea.

01:31:30 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 5:

A little behind your time.

01:31:32 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

I want you to know that it was only once, and I'm going to tell you something. It was nothing. It really meant nothing to me.

01:31:41 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm.

01:31:44 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, will you go on the green and give me a green flag on the TIA, please?

01:31:50 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 7:

I'll give you a green flag.

01:31:52 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 2:

You'll give me a green flag?

01:31:53 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 7:

I gave you one, so now you're up to three green flags and 19 red flags.

01:31:58 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate it. Hold on. Ken wants to comment on this. Ken, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's happening, Ken?

01:32:07 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. I've got a theory of who started this. And, you know, tell me if I'm wrong. But honestly, I think Misfit Victor is behind the whole thing.

01:32:16 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 2:

You know, I don't think Victor would do that to me. Victor cares about me. He loves me. I don't think he would do that.

01:32:22 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I think it warrants a call.

01:32:25 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 2:

All right, call Victor and find out if Victor has anything to do with this. Hold on, Angie. What's up, Angie?

01:32:32 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. So I went on there and I gave you a green flag, and then I did a comment too. Yeah. So it's a positive one. I said, he is a great person, and I enjoy listening to Yacht Rock once in a while.

01:32:50 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, listen, Chelsea, this is why I didn't go to boot camp this year, because I couldn't do it. I could not go to boot camp and cheat on you again.

01:33:00 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's a little thing.

01:33:04 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 2:

Are you on the T-app, Chelsea? Because I would wonder if you're the one that wrote this up on the T-app.

01:33:09 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea what the T-app is, but I'm going to figure it out.

01:33:13 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, no. Hold on a second.

01:33:16 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 1:

Isn't the purpose of the T-app to post, unless I completely misunderstand this, to post people who are single so that if somebody is thinking about dating them, They get the info about dating them. It could be a guy who's, like, cheating, too. Oh, okay.

01:33:28 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Misfit Victor is on the phone. Victor, a listener thinks that you put me on the T-app. Did you do that?

01:33:35 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 3:

I had to remember what the T-app was. Like you just said, it's for single people. No, according to Bianca's not. I wouldn't do that. I don't have to put you on the T-app. Anybody that listens to the show knows that you're undateable.

01:33:50 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 2:

so i mean it's like victor is victor on the t-app can we see if victor's on the t-app if you were going to cheat i'm pretty sure i'm on there a couple of times you would cheat with

01:34:01 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 3:

my wife chelsea wouldn't you well i want to call it cheese if it's only lasts like 48 seconds

01:34:08 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

but i mean chelsea's on the phone with us right now victor say hello to chelsea oh hi chelsea i'm

01:34:14 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

01:34:16 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 5:

Hello, Victor.

01:34:18 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 2:

Does it only reach 48 seconds because you're that quick, Victor, or Chelsea just says no after 48 seconds?

01:34:26 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Probably both, but that includes foreplay and cleanup. Okay.

01:34:29 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 5:

All right. All right. All right. Sorry. My gosh.

01:34:33 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 2:

All right. I love you. I love you, Chelsea. I love you, Victor. I love you. I love you guys. Let's start a tea of me and Victor having an affair with each other. I would like that to happen there, too. Hold on. Robin wants to make a comment. What's up, Robin? Hi.

01:34:51 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 7:

Somebody needs to mention that you would only cheat on Chelsea if it's with your man crush, Tom Brady. That is true.

01:34:57 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

That is true, by the way. Tom Brady. I'm okay with, I'm, I'm, I'm fine with that. So, uh, give me a little Tom Brady loving and I'm happy about that whole deal. Did you see, by the way, his statue out in front of, uh, the stadium in, uh, in Foxborough?

01:35:13 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

No, is that MetLife?

01:35:15 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 2:

I think. What stadium? No, that's, uh, it's Gillette Stadium.

01:35:18 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

01:35:19 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 2:

It might be the only, uh, statue that I would ever make love to. It's right there. Um, all right. Vic, this is actually an interesting one. Bianca here is in studio with us.

01:35:29 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 1:

What up?

01:35:30 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 2:

Bianca, who is our director of social impact, booty called the boss.

01:35:36 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I did. So over the weekend, I was at Raft Off, as everybody knows. He ate soup. Yeah, it was a pea soup.

01:35:45 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 2:

And for those who don't know what Raft Off is, Raft Off is where everybody goes to Lake St. Clair, and they all celebrate the end of summer by all partying and drinking.

01:35:57 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 1:

And use the bathroom in the same spot.

01:35:58 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 2:

How hot was the water, by the way? They said that the water was really warm.

01:36:01 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I don't even remember. I could not tell you.

01:36:03 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

You were that drunk.

01:36:04 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 1:

I made sure I wasn't sober when I got in the water.

01:36:06 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:36:07 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 1:

But anyway, we were having a little bit too many tequila shots. And next thing I know, my phone is dialing up Tony Travato. And I'm like, what is going on?

01:36:18 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 2:

And Tony is our program director. Why were you calling Tony?

01:36:20 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 1:

Tony is my boss.

01:36:21 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:36:22 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 1:

Because I was hanging out with a guy named Tony on our boat. And I was trying to find him. So I was like, hey, Siri, call Tony. Tony DeVado's phone starts ringing up and I don't know why it's his contact out of all the Tonys in my phone that it chose Tony. That's the one it goes to. And I saw his phone ringing and I was like, oh my God. It rang the whole way through. He just didn't pick up because he was like up north or whatever. And then he texted me back a couple hours later. Hey, sorry, I missed your call. What's up? And I was like, did not mean to call you. Don't worry.

01:36:50 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so how many Tonys do you have in a phone? You have a lot of Tonys in your phone?

01:36:55 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 1:

I probably have like four Tonys. Tonys is a common name.

01:36:58 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 2:

You can tell you're an Eastsider if you've got that many Tonys in your phone.

01:37:02 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, there's Anthony that includes Tony.

01:37:04 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 2:

There's a lot of Tonys that you went to. Where'd you go to high school?

01:37:07 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 1:

Lance Cruz North.

01:37:08 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there you go. That's a popular name over on that side of town.

01:37:11 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 1:

But I wasn't going to tell him because I didn't want to get fired. But then yesterday I was like, you know. You weren't going to get fired for that. It was a mistake.

01:37:19 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 2:

Could you get fired for booty calling the boss?

01:37:22 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

But that's not who she was intending to call. I understand. I don't know if I left a voicemail or not.

01:37:27 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody ever had this happen? Has anybody actually called or accidentally called the boss while they were in the midst of something that you, you know, like sex or anything like that? Like, has anybody ever had that? Like, butt dialed the boss and on the button in the boss, here's your entire thing?

01:37:42 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, but honestly, thank God Tony's chill, though, because I was like.

01:37:46 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 2:

Tony, which Tony? The Tony that you were trying to call or this Tony boss?

01:37:49 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 1:

Tony Travato's chill. Not the other one. Wait.

01:37:52 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 2:

So who's this guy, Tony, that you were trying to find?

01:37:55 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 1:

She was just a mutual friend. I met him on the boat that day.

01:37:58 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 2:

So you met him that day, and you got his number that day?

01:38:01 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, of course. We were on the boat together.

01:38:03 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 2:

I think this is weird. How many numbers did she get?

01:38:06 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm just that girl. But here's the thing. Let me tell you something. I had no service the whole time on the boat, but I had service to call Tony. I don't know how that happened. I had no service the whole time except when I was calling Tony.

01:38:16 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 2:

You know what? It's called an iHeart thing. iHeart Radio knows how to make sure that you're always connected to them at all times. Please welcome the one and only Tony in my life, Tony Travato, our boss. What's up? Hi, Tony. He's so happy.

01:38:32 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 3:

A little misprogrammed.

01:38:33 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 2:

He loves the uncomfortableness. Is that a word? Tony.

01:38:37 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Bianca, I had a missed call from you. I was wondering what was going on. I know. It's truth coming out, Tony.

01:38:44 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 2:

Tony, when's the last time that you got a booty call? Does Brooke booty call you? I've never had one. No? What?

01:38:51 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, first time, long time. Yay!

01:38:56 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

Tony, what would you have done if the phone rang and you picked it up and you could hear Bianca with all her girlfriends flirting and hitting on all these guys at Raft Off? Would you hang up the phone or would you listen to the entire thing?

01:39:12 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Actually, as you guys were talking about that, I just looked to see if I didn't have one. It didn't go to voicemail. It did not go to voicemail. Oh, my gosh, thank God. That would have been actually great.

01:39:23 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

That would have been – I wonder what – what would you do if you – okay, here's a hypothetical, and maybe this has happened to you, and if it has, I want to hear from you too, because I want to hear from the people that have accidentally called the boss, and the boss heard your most intimate stuff. what would you do if you butt dialed the boss while you were in the midst of baking cookies and you knew that it went through to their voicemail and they potentially could hear you in a little mattress romp going on would you call your boss or text your boss and say please delete that immediately or would you let it all go

01:40:00 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 1:

in hope that they would just never say anything because they'd be too embarrassed to say something.

01:40:04 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you know I would ignore, ignore, ignore.

01:40:06 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 1:

Would you? Yes. So if you butt-dialed Tony.

01:40:09 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 6:

Because the minute you say, well, I guess either way, the minute you say, please don't listen to it, if I said that to you, please don't listen to the voicemail I just left you, what's the first thing you're going to do? You're going to listen to it.

01:40:20 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, my hope, though, is I think Tony is a good Christian man, and I think Tony would probably listen to it. Tony, what would you do? Would you listen to it, or what would you do, Tony?

01:40:33 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 3:

At first, I would read the transcript.

01:40:37 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 1:

Good answer. I don't know. What if the transcripts were like, oh, ah, yeah. Right there.

01:40:46 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 6:

It's not good.

01:40:48 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I think I would have, I think I would honestly call and say, please delete that. You know what I mean? Like, if it's reversed for me, if it went sent to Colleen or whatever. Yeah. Like, if it sent to Tony, I'd keep it because it would give me a little cachet with Tony. You'd think that I'm still getting laid. But I think for, like, somebody like Colleen, I would say, Colleen, please delete that. Yeah, it was an accident. This is a bad moment. I don't know why. By the way, I don't know why I had my phone with me, you know? Yeah. So.

01:41:15 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 5:

I'm not going to lie. When I saw that I was ringing it, I was like, I hope I'm just so drunk right now. I hope this is fake and this is not actually happening in real life.

01:41:22 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 1:

You need to re-put Tony's name in your phone.

01:41:25 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 5:

As boss. As just boss. I actually do have four Tonys in my phone, so he just got unlucky.

01:41:29 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 6:

Change that right now while we're talking about it. All right, Tony.

01:41:32 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, Tony, don't be embarrassed, okay? Chill, boss. We'll see you, buddy. Call any time, guys. Just so Tony knows, now I'm going to actually call tonight, and I'm going to have, like, porn playing in the background just to see what Tony thinks of this. Kaylee, what's going on? Kaylee, it's Mojo in the morning.

01:41:53 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, first time long time. All right.

01:41:56 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 1:

I miss Kev for these ones, though. This is so sad. You'll have to call back next time and say Kev was on vacation, so you can get that. What's going on, Kaylee?

01:42:04 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

I'll for sure have to. All right, so the other day, my mom told me that she got a text message from one of her co-worker, well, not a co-worker, her employee, and it was a bare boob picture. No.

01:42:19 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 6:

Really?

01:42:20 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Yeah, sent it to my mom and was like, please don't open that. Please don't open that. I'm like, I would never come back into work that next morning.

01:42:28 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 1:

What kind of work does your mom do?

01:42:31 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 2:

Nursing home.

01:42:33 - 01:42:33 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

01:42:34 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:42:35 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 1:

And one of the other nurses or workers there did this. That's funny. Oh, my God.

01:42:40 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Wow. Right on the weekend.

01:42:42 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 1:

That is hysterical. Hey, is this really the person's name, Lydia?

01:42:47 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 4:

No, remember Malaysia Billy? So his parents left him home alone when he was 15 to go to Malaysia.

01:42:53 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:42:54 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 4:

So we called him Malaysia Billy?

01:42:56 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, who's Malaysia Billy? Malaysia Billy's on the phone. What's up, Billy?

01:43:03 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 3:

Maka Maka Wiki, here I am.

01:43:06 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? How are you?

01:43:08 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 3:

Who would have daggum britches on while they're out there doing cookie baking?

01:43:13 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though?

01:43:14 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 3:

You'd have to have your phone in your back pocket.

01:43:15 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 1:

Billy, I have had where the phone has been laying in bed. Like, you never have had that happen to you before, where you have your phone in bed and next thing you know?

01:43:22 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm butt naked, I get everything away. No, I'm butt naked, everything's gone, man.

01:43:26 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 1:

You keep the phone away so that you don't get any kind of radiation around your private parts, or what's the story?

01:43:31 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 3:

It don't matter, man. I'm butt naked, I'm all over the room, man.

01:43:34 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 1:

You guys have never had the phone in bed with you when you guys have had sex? No.

01:43:39 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 3:

No? No. Yeah.

01:43:40 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean... Baking cookies, man. Baking cookies, exactly.

01:43:44 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you don't mean to, but sometimes that happens, right?

01:43:47 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. Sometimes it happens, yeah. actually i keep it in bed with me so i can listen to music i can have the music playing you know behind me so i can uh make sure that uh i keep the mood going the entire time actually no i don't honestly i keep it i keep it in bed i'm going holy crap we're having sex this is unbelievable um all right uh booty call the boss is what you got to label that podcast as

01:44:13 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 5:

uh shout out tony though if it was any other boss i would have quit my job there was no way I'll face it.

01:44:19 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 1:

There is something kind of funny about booty calling Tony.

01:44:22 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 6:

Tony is just so innocent and sweet. Yes. A little farmer boy.

01:44:48 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 7:

The second date update. Am I the a-hole or the throwback throwdown?

01:44:52 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to give you a chance right now to win Tate McCray tickets. And then I got to get into a topic about Tate McCray coming up afterwards.

01:45:00 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 3:

have a pair of tickets for you to see tate mccray saturday's sold out show at little caesar's arena 95th caller 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 good luck mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right we're gonna get you caught up on what's trending in this hour's dirty on the 30 shannon it is cool

01:45:20 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 4:

to tell you about all of the easter eggs that swifties start collecting about something and for it to actually come to fruition and be true and confirmed. And the Easter egg started dropping after the show yesterday, after the Dirty was over, of course. And everybody was thinking that Taylor was going to appear as the surprise guest on this week's edition of the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelsey. And turns out, she absolutely is.

01:45:48 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

So I wanted to show you something.

01:45:51 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:45:51 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 1:

What do we got? We got a briefcase. Yep.

01:45:56 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 2:

Mick Green with TS on it.

01:45:58 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 1:

Yep. What's in it? This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

01:46:03 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, just huge, huge news. We got it 12-12 this morning, The Life of a Showgirl. We don't have a release date yet. It may be in the episode, but the episode doesn't drop until tomorrow night at 7 o'clock. So we have to wait until then.

01:46:19 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 3:

uh why uh real quick why uh do we know lydia that uh the album is dropping at this time in her little things like does she have something big going on is what era is this going to be called

01:46:32 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 4:

so this is her 12th album that's why that was that's why it was 12 12 when the announcement

01:46:38 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 3:

so do we think that it will come out the 12th month of the year no i think it's going to come out on friday but i'm just speculating it is coming out that soon like wouldn't iheart though have an indication of this thing and we would already know that we're doing this like wouldn't

01:46:51 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

we already have a tip off of that or no i would think so but there are other music platforms who have announced something similar to what taylor has cooking up for friday so i don't know if iheart is going to collab on that or where where we stand i guarantee if it is friday the all the

01:47:08 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 4:

higher ups at iheart know for sure they just know that we are not trustworthy yeah so they don't tell us about that news. Backup dancers on Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour are all over social media sharing photos of this handwritten note and a piece of Louis Vuitton luggage that they were gifted two weeks after the end of the tour. Each piece retailing for $3,500. Congratulations on the

01:47:36 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 2:

completion of the Cowboy Carter Tour. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication the last couple of months. We hope you enjoy your gift and know that we greatly appreciate all your contributions.

01:47:52 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 4:

So that's a very nice thing. I mean, this is a beautiful bag that they were gifted. I heard a rumor that some of the dancers were miffed saying, we got a suitcase when taylor swift dished out 200 million dollars following the eras tour to her crew and her dancers and her truck drivers and sound people and they're going we got a piece of luggage now mind you it's a very nice piece of luggage but but also to give beyonce a little bit

01:48:23 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 3:

here um Taylor's tour was a long tour yeah and it was a lot bigger money-making tour this is April May April May June July and this was actually a shorter one yeah but with that said you kind of get this in NFL I don't know if you ever see this I was just gonna say that yeah with the quarterbacks the quarterbacks buy their offensive linemen guess yes and when you look at like somebody that gives like Rolex watches or brand new cars didn't Patrick Mahomes do a crazy one this year He's done crazy ones. And then Jared Goff gives like a case of meat or something. You know what I mean?

01:48:57 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:48:57 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, and I think that the guys all love the gifts that they get, but it does come across sometimes cheaper if you're not given a Rolex, you know, to the, uh, to the people.

01:49:06 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 4:

So yeah, like Bob and Tom iconic radio show gave their co-hosts like a Porsche one year.

01:49:11 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 3:

Did they really? You're so full of it.

01:49:15 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 4:

No, I actually think that's true. Bob and Tom did. I don't know. I heard that somewhere.

01:49:19 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, maybe that co-host did a great job. You know, I mean, I'll be honest with you. If you work a little harder, we maybe, you know, I can probably get you. Do they still make Saturns?

01:49:34 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 4:

Shrek 5 has been delayed yet again. It is now set to hit theaters on June 30th, 2027. What is the delay?

01:49:42 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 3:

By this time, nobody's going to know what Shrek is.

01:49:44 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

So it's already gotten pushed so many times. It was going to be July of next year. Then it was going to be Christmas of next year. And now we're getting summer of 2027, which I think they pushed it to avoid a crowded holiday box office. But everybody's back. Mike Myers is Shrek, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, along with.

01:50:00 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 2:

Zendaya, who voices their daughter, Felicia. And lastly, four people have now been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries, including that break in a couple of months ago at Brad Pitt's California home. He wasn't home when those three suspects allegedly entered his residence by scaling his fence and smashing a window to get in, stole all bunch of stuff, a whole bunch of stuff. But a bunch of celebrities were targeted here and they finally got the guys or girls who were involved. For everything you missed today, catch up on the podcast. 01:51:09 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 1:

times today alexis is on the phone we're going to set you up with a pair of tickets to go and see tate mccray saturday night sold out show congratulations to you oh my gosh thank you so much everyone hey have a great time and hang on the phone for just one second and we'll get some gets uh information for uh from you who are you taking to tate mccray uh my sister you guys

01:51:31 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 3:

both big fans um she is by association from hanging out with me so much and how old are you

01:51:38 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 1:

alexis if you don't mind me asking um 25 okay so i have a question to ask you and you tell me what your thoughts are on this one and i want to know everybody's thoughts on this one can you be too old for Tate here's here's my question for you friend of mine 40 something years old like 47 48 years old he is going to see Tate McRae this weekend and I'll give you this situation and you guys tell me what your thoughts are he is 47 48 years old he's got a daughter who is 19 or 18 years old kind of just out of high school getting ready to go into college and he's not taking his daughter he's going to the concert she's also going with her friends and he's going to the concert because he really wants to go see tate mccray and he loves tate mccray he doesn't trust

01:52:28 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 2:

her there because she can go into the concert by herself he's going to the concert because he wants

01:52:33 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 1:

to go to the concert he ended up going and buying tickets to the concert and is going to the show just so happens that he's going to the show and she's going to the show too and here's here's the situation and alexis tell me if you think that that would be weird if you're sitting next to a

01:52:44 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 3:

guy that's you know 40s years old oh i mean i don't think i'd honestly think too much of it especially if his daughter is a big fan he's probably listening to her all the time what if he knew every single word to every single song yeah i'd honestly be a little impressed wait isn't

01:53:03 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 1:

tate mccray though not an artist that would be like taylor would be different like taylor's iconic where tate mccray is kind of not as iconic as you know she's she hasn't reached that status Like I.

01:53:15 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you're making me feel weird about something. Why? Because I'm going to see Benson Boone, who's 23 years old. Do you think that's weird? So it's the guy. That I'm going to see Benson Boone?

01:53:24 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 1:

It's the perspective. It's the girl's versus guy's perspective on this one.

01:53:29 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 2:

As you're saying this about your buddy, I'm going. How old are you? My sister and I are going to see Benson Boone.

01:53:34 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, you're going with your sister. If two guys go. I think it's weird if two guys go.

01:53:38 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 2:

No, and my brother-in-law and my husband were double dating to Benson Boone. Is that weird?

01:53:43 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 1:

No, you're going, you guys are going because it's, but if you, if the, if two guys were going to see like Sabrina Carpenter or Tate McRae, if you're going to, if you're going to see this, then I think that there's something weird to that. I don't know. I think it's weird.

01:53:59 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you and I can't, like, it's such a double standard. I know it is, but I agree with you.

01:54:04 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't know. I think it's weird. I think I, I got a weird thing on this one, Alexis, and I know you're going and you're going to the show. You're good on this one. You got the tickets. Enjoy. congratulations to you um oh thank you so much again everyone appreciate you lydia when you you and bianca uh on this one here i want to ask you guys a quick question because you guys just went to lalapalooza did you see any dudes like older dudes going to lalapalooza because of in at the

01:54:29 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

sabrina carpenter show yeah we saw dads yeah we saw one dad but they're with their kids right yeah but their daughters are grown yeah she was like 20 years old she was our age what did you guys think it was weird um at first i thought it was weird and i was like what is his dad doing here but when i got talking to him and i asked him it was like his bonding moment he does every year with his daughter so i thought it was kind of cute okay but that was the only dad i saw no other dads nah i thought it was all right like she can go out with her friends and do that on her own it's cute that he was there with her but it's like go like the dad

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 6:

in the mosh pit like with all the youngins but lala is different though because you're in the

01:55:05 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 2:

city you're in you know yeah but he was in a mosh pit like no no adult over at the age of 30 i'd say to go sit in a mosh pit for two hours to wait for an artist yeah you know i don't know like i know

01:55:16 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 6:

my dad would never do that by the way this is another example with shannon's example of going to see benson boone where guys have there is a double standard for guys than there is for women

01:55:27 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 7:

I have to say, because if I, if I was at Sabrina Carpenter, you know, and the two guys, it was Mojo and Victor next to me, I'd be like, these effing creeps, like stay away from me. How about if it was me and Kevin? Would me and Kevin were there? Does it add a little insight? No, it would be the same. It would be? Yeah, I don't, it's not fair. I don't know why, but that would be my thought.

01:55:49 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 6:

What if Kevin, okay, Kevin's not here to defend himself, so I can bring this up. What if Kevin went to Tate McRae On Saturday night Like he did Chris Brown Where he went to the show by himself And sat in the handicap section What do we think Is there anything to that

01:56:06 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 7:

Yeah I might think that's a little weird

01:56:09 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know Also I think the stuff These artists sing about Like the way Tate McRae performs on stage and stuff I think that would be awkward to sit and watch her through dad Yeah that's a good point She likes pole dances Yeah, and, like, even Sabrina Carpenter, too.

01:56:24 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 6:

What do you think, Bruno? Hi. Morning, Mojo.

01:56:28 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 9:

Morning, Shannon.

01:56:29 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

01:56:32 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 9:

Mojo, why can't you just let things be? It sounds like you're just looking for something where there's nothing. If it's not your thing.

01:56:41 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 6:

So you think I'm reaching for something here right now that I shouldn't be giving my friend crap over the fact that he's going to see Tate McRae? Let people just be happy.

01:56:51 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 9:

Absolutely. I mean, I had a psychology professor that he definitely does not miss any Taylor Swift concert. And, you know, it's not my thing, but there you go.

01:57:01 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 6:

And how old of a man is this, psychology professor?

01:57:04 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 9:

Oh, Mr. Smith, I think he's like in his late 50s.

01:57:32 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, then I'm really... No, I've taken my kids to Disney movies. I've talked about this, and there's one guy sitting by himself two rows from the back, and I'm like, stranger danger kids. All eyes forward.

So if you want to get in touch with us, you can check out either one of those numbers and get in touch. Again, 844-MOJO-LIVE or text 95500. If you do text us, know that we will call you back, ask you to come on the show with us, and just tell us if you're a first-time long-time. And I know Kevin is out this week. We're doing our best to give you the energy that Kevin gives you. It's so strong.

02:00:00 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 2:

And he screams out your name. Although, I got to be honest, he needed that week off because his energy level was going low. Like, I noticed that towards the end of the week, he was like, who's on the phone? Like, he would ask that question. Or he would, the person would be like, Bob's on the phone. And he'd go, Billy's on the phone. He would kind of like, did you notice that? He was kind of like, mumble a little bit. Yeah, he was kind of like half listening at times. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So last week you were talking to us about the whole house stuff and the idea that, you know, Wes and you were talking about moving possibly and that became kind of a big thing in the house. Is everything settled down?

02:00:43 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 1:

Everything has settled down, but it's still a big topic of conversation. It's an important topic of conversation. So if you missed, if you missed last week, definitely go and listen to the podcast. And I don't even know what its name, Zach. I think it's called The New House. But Wes, when Wes and I got married, long story short, we moved into the home that I've been living in for 10 years now. That's Lucy and Smith's home. And so he and my two stepkids moved into our house. And over the course of a year, it just has not felt like home to Wes. In fact, he's felt quite uncomfortable. And so we thought about the possibility or he brought up the possibility of let's move and move into something and create something together for us, for our family. I was really wrestling with that because I love my house and I didn't want to move. Last week, we had an appointment to go look at a house and I was really surprised when we went to this house and it was just Wes and I, we didn't bring the kids or anything. I walked into this house and loved it. Like absolutely fell in love with it. And we spent this whole past weekend. I don't even, you knew this because I had, I had caught up with you over the weekend, but we spent the weekend going back and forth with offers and counter offers and talking to people who lived in this specific area. And then on Sunday afternoon, we got a text that the sellers ended up accepting another offer and I know it sounds crazy I was really sad I was bummed after all of that going I don't want to move I don't want to move why is this happening I've like I was so surprised at how bummed I was that we lost out on this house it's interesting

02:02:31 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 2:

because I thought that you would be like a little relieved because it gave you a little time because I didn't think that you were wanting to move.

02:02:40 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 1:

I wasn't.

02:02:42 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 2:

What finally changed that made you?

02:02:45 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 1:

It was, well, it was a lot of conversations with Wes that we're still having. And I don't want to, you know, talk about that. Because obviously they're conversations that he and I are still having. But I think it was going into a space and feeling comfortable and going. I could see my family really thriving here. Like, I think this could be a really good thing for us. However, I had to do a lot of praying on, like, is this actually a good thing? Is it not? And I think it was a total God thing that it fell through because it prompted Wes and I to have some really hard discussions that we had been putting off about finances and mortgages and house and it helped me change my heart on a lot of things and then we also started talking to the kids and filled them in that this had been happening behind the scenes that we had put an offer on a house and they were not happy about the possibility of a move particularly the girls were very very very upset about it wait even Wes's daughter was upset about very upset

02:03:56 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 2:

about it yeah well what what was the the okay so I can see your kids because this

02:04:03 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 1:

has been their home for it Lucy before I could even get the words out of my mouth of Wes and I put an offer on and she like started sobbing and my stepdaughter just she's moved a lot and she said I don't want to move again and it would be it would be further for her away from her school and her friends and

02:04:24 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

her mom and um so although not crazy far right because i know the area was about 10 minutes longer of a drive for her to school okay which is i get the idea of packing up and moving again because these kids so wet so to kind of recap the listeners on um you know wes and uh samantha and Kieran, Wes's daughter and son, the kids moved, they moved from dad's house to your house. So that was within like the last, what, year and so, right?

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:05:00 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

And they also moved from mom's house to mom's new house. To mom's. So mom moved again. Uh-huh. So these kids are moving a bunch. A lot. And so it makes, I guess, sense, right? To see Samantha's kind of at the point.

02:05:11 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 2:

Just want to be settled somewhere.

02:05:13 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 3:

How is Wes's son with this, with him going away to school? He doesn't care. He doesn't care.

02:05:16 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, the boys didn't really care. Smith was like, oh, you know, he saw the house. He's like, okay, Kieran's going to college this weekend. Yeah. So for him, it's like, whatever makes you happy.

02:05:26 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 3:

as a kid when you go away to college and this is a big this is a big deal as a kid when you're going away to college talking to like friends that have moved a lot of them move when the kids go away to college yeah when they go away to college it's a horrible time having them move while they're away because they don't feel like the house is theirs they don't get a chance to make the house theirs yeah you know i mean until after school semesters are are done with um what

02:05:51 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 2:

was lucy's uh emotion about that oh lucy was so upset i mean it just about broke my damn heart when i saw sam when i saw sam crying too it broke my heart but loose she just like that house is her comfort zone like that's where she grew up she is she kept saying you know think of all of

02:06:10 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

the memories this is my house um she just feels safe there so after uh seeing the emotion that the girls had will you and Wes still continue to keep looking for a new house for right now I think

02:06:26 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 2:

we're good where we are for a little bit we're gonna how long is a little bit I don't know we're

02:06:30 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 3:

gonna make a lot of changes to the house and wait so this actually might have been a an eye-opener

02:06:36 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 2:

for both of you guys on this well I said that to Wes I go maybe the reason this other house came into our lives was to prompt us to have some discussions that we had been putting off yeah You know.

02:06:45 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 3:

With yourselves or with the whole family? Discussions.

02:06:48 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

With the whole family.

02:06:49 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. Well, it is interesting to see kids' perspectives.

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

It was a really great house.

02:06:54 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting to see kids' perspectives on moving because, you know, to kids, there is an emotion that they have. Because even if in Samantha's case where this is such new memories, there are still things that she's become attached to. And it feels home. It feels like home. And honestly, no matter how much.

02:07:14 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Or it's starting to feel like home at least.

02:07:14 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

No matter how much that you think that kids can be resilient and stuff like this, there's an emotional attachment that they have to things, especially if they've been moving a bunch. But Lily, what's up? What do you want to say to Shannon?

02:07:31 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Lily. I'm sorry, are you talking to me?

02:07:32 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, is that your name, Lily?

02:07:35 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 1:

No, my name's Rebecca.

02:07:36 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sorry about that. Hi, how are you doing, Rebecca?

02:07:41 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm good, how are you?

02:07:42 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Good, what's going on?

02:07:43 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

um so i actually went through this exact almost the exact same situation so when she was talking about it i was really shocked um so i got together with my husband at the time i already had my daughter so i moved in with him um because he already owned the house so we lived there for maybe about three years me and him had another child um together um so we ended up deciding that As we were expanding our family, we needed a bigger house. So we started looking for houses. We ended up finally finding one after a year. And when I told my daughter, who is 10 now, absolutely broke her heart. She was crying every single day, begging me not to move. She said that was her house. She had been there the longest in her life. She didn't want to switch everything up and felt like we were taking her away from her safe space. We were moving a city over, which was about 5, 10 minutes away from where we previously were living. So that was a big change for her, and she thought she was going to be distant from her friends. So finally, we ended up moving into the house. she kind of resented it for a little bit just because obviously she already discussed with us that that was not something that she wanted to do but fast forward a year later here we are we've been in the house for like I said almost a year she's absolutely thriving she said this is her favorite house she's ever lived in she loves that there's more space it's just I think that in that age group also um they have a lot of attachment to items and things and it's just hard for them because they they do develop a safe space so i think pulling them away from that is is really difficult for them um as it is for us too i was gonna say you're really attached to the house

02:09:33 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah i talked to my therapist about this last week and um she was like you know you take your kids thoughts and feelings into consideration but you don't let them be the reason you do or

02:09:44 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 1:

don't do something you know um you wouldn't ever make a decision that would harm them in any way everything is to help them also yeah yeah um thank you for the call i appreciate it yeah no problem i just think it's really relatable and helpful to hear a story from someone else where it is difficult and it's a huge decision for your family. But I think in the future, you're going to be really happy that you did it when you did, um, instead of putting it off. But obviously it's a decision for your

02:10:14 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 5:

family as a whole. Right. So would you keep going then Shannon? I mean, I, I know you said that

02:10:18 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 2:

you're kind of, I mean, our realtor is a friend of mine and like, she kind of knows our situation. And if something like a spectacular came up, it would absolutely, absolutely be considered, But I'm not sitting here this morning, like, you know, on Realtor.com. Yeah.

02:10:32 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 5:

Is it De'Asia? Is it De'Asia? God, who is this?

02:10:36 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 1:

De'Asia. It's De'Asia.

02:10:38 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 5:

It is De'Asia. Okay. De'Asia, what's happening?

02:10:42 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

So I was a kid whose parents moved houses. And I was about 12 when we made a big move. And me and my sister were not necessarily thrilled about it. But looking back at it, I'm 24 now, so they've been in that house for 12 years. It couldn't have been a better decision, honestly, for the family. It's a tough first move, but, you know, it could ultimately end up being, like, the best decision you go with, and it could just be something, a new adventure that you're looking into. Yeah.

02:11:16 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. A lot of people are saying move. Really? These calls are saying that. This texture is an interesting one. I can't talk. This is from 734. Can't talk, but I want to know the update on the M's on the wall.

02:11:27 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 2:

They are gone, but you want to know it's so funny. Who removed them? Me. Really? Explain that. I want to hear that story. I ruined some wall in the process, but that's okay. But where they were, they're still like the wall I'm now realizing is so dirty.

02:11:44 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 5:

It still says M. You can't get away. I can't get away. Um, that was a, that was a big topic, uh, last week of the house. And then Wes contacted, or we called Wes or Lydia called Wes, got Wes on the air and Wes said, well, you know, we still got M's all over the place. Um, so that, that got brought up last week. That was a good podcast.

02:12:06 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 2:

And being the first initial of my last name, by the way, if you're going M's, M's, I don't understand. You're, you're, yeah.

02:12:10 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And, and married last name, which was, I think the part that, cause it wasn't so much your maiden last name that probably bothered Wes. Yeah. but um uh now you can just say the m is for mojo what do you think i'm sure he really loved if you want you can put the ojo at the end of it if you guys would like that so uh you know what i think i think the thing with the house thing too is and i you and i had this conversation i think that

02:12:36 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 2:

one of the things that thank you for talking about i don't know all weekend like you were very helpful there were so many people that were very helpful and reminding me like just pray just pray, pray on it, pray for God to open a door, close another, you know, um, and I don't do, that's not, I don't know. It's like, it sounds like we're getting attacked. I'm about to get attacked. Is that a pump or something? Can any, can you hear that Lydia? Yeah. It sounds like a

02:13:00 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 5:

motor. Oh, it's, are you kidding me? We've got construction going on out there. DTE is like pumping. What are they doing out there? Is that an engine? I can't see out my window. What is happening this hour is brought to you by dte um so i think that uh anytime chelsea and i have ever had big decisions in our life we've always done the you know god open doors and close doors and i will tell you this he doesn't open and close them he slams them or you know what i mean like

02:13:27 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 2:

you get some definite this one feels like gently shut i don't know if this is gonna go through so we're kind of still waiting for a phone call and we'll see but yeah yeah all right uh it's mojo in

02:13:37 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 5:

morning. WKQI

02:13:39 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo

02:13:46 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 3:

in the morning. Oh, Mojo, he's

02:13:47 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 4:

amazing. Live.

02:13:50 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. SNS Kiss 955. Oh, you know what time it is. You ready? You waking up with Mojo. These other morning shows are no-go. They love us like the iHeart logo. We got five at 655. If you were looking for Mojo, water, roses, ketchup, I'm creeping on the low, low. Weekdays, 5 to 10, 30, it goes down. Hey, who you picking for the throwback throwdown? Dirty on the 30 for the news on your timeline. Only on Kiss, SNX, and 955. Let's go.

02:14:19 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, I'm going to join the morning, giving you a chance to go to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. I'm going to do that in less than 10 minutes, okay? So I'm going to do it just after 10, after some time. It's all brought to you by Zod Ford. Zod Ford, sponsoring iHeartRadio Music Festival, starring Tate McRae, Lil Wayne, Ed Sheeran, the list goes on and on, Maroon 5, Mariah Carey. I'm sorry, I got the drilling from a DTE out in front of the building here in my head. Do they not make these studios soundproof?

02:14:54 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 2:

So loud in my ear.

02:14:56 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 5:

It's unbelievable. You know what's funny? Tony says to me that he cannot...

02:15:00 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 2:

We can't hear us outside of our studios, but we can hear everything outside of our studios in our studios. They reversed the soundproofness of this particular studio. So we're soundproof to everybody else in the building, but the studio is not soundproof. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. It is time now for Am I the A-Hole?

02:15:19 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 5:

So I want to propose to my new girlfriend using the same ring that I gave to my ex-fiance.

02:15:25 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, why do you even need to ask us on Am I the A-Hole? Can you propose to your girlfriend using the same ring that you gave to an ex? Is that what he says? Eric is on the phone with us right now. Eric, you there? Yeah, yeah. Hey, Eric, so first off, what happened to the last relationship? Why did the last relationship? Did you propose to the last girl?

02:15:54 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 6:

I did. No, I did. I proposed and then, uh, we got it put off, uh, in 2020.

02:16:01 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So, so you got the ring back then.

02:16:07 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. And, uh, I've been my new girl since 2023 and I want to propose to her now.

02:16:14 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 2:

And does she know that this ring that you're proposing to her with, or that you're going to propose to her with was a ring that you had from a past relationship? No. Okay.

02:16:26 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 6:

No, she doesn't know that. And you're not going to. She doesn't like the style of it.

02:16:31 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 2:

So she's a fan of the style of ring. It's the same style of ring that you were going to give to your ex, or you did give to your ex. I would say that you are not an a-hole if you can keep it quiet.

02:16:43 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 1:

No, I disagree.

02:16:45 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:16:45 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, 100 million percent a-hole. And by the way, she will eventually find out. How? Because I just feel like there's a picture floating around. A friend, a family member is going to go, oh my, it looks so similar. Like someone's going to slip and she is going to find out and that is not going to be good.

02:17:05 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think that you can't, then you can't use the ring.

02:17:09 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 1:

Sell it. Go get a brand new ring. If she likes that shape or cut or style or whatever, get a similar one, but you've got to get a new one.

02:17:18 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Darren, what do you think? Is Eric an a-hole?

02:17:26 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, first class all the way. First class, at least, right? Yeah, second time, long time. Hey, thank you, Darren.

02:17:33 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate it.

02:17:35 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys. We love you, too. You know, you have women that goes out, and she would see another woman in that same dress, and she's ready to leave the party because she don't even want to be in the same room with that woman that has the same dress on. So she would not want to wear a ring that belonged to another woman.

02:17:54 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 1:

That was worn. That was worn by another woman.

02:17:58 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. On her finger. I mean, that's just general common sense. You take the ring, you take it in, you trade it in, you give this beautiful woman a new beautiful ring.

02:18:09 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 2:

That's what Shannon said exactly. Thank you, buddy. Carrie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:14 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, yes. He is the biggest a-hole. I kind of hope she's listening to this. So she realizes, sell that ring. Oh, my gosh, buy her a new one. That is not what the intent was.

02:18:25 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

What about if he takes that ring and just changes it a little bit?

02:18:30 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 1:

No. No. She still wore it on her finger. You're cheap.

02:18:33 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:18:34 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 1:

I dated a guy.

02:18:36 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You dated a guy?

02:18:38 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 1:

I dated a guy who, you know, who was married and divorced and had the ring that his ex-wife had worn because it was one of his family heirlooms. I don't know if it was his grandma, his great-grandma, whatever. And I remember seeing it in a drawer and him saying that if he ever got married again, and actually he's married now, that he was going to use that ring because it was a family heirloom to him. And I remember thinking, that would be so weird to me. And I totally understand. God, you'd want to pass along your grandma's ring. But your ex-wife wore that for however many years. Yeah. And now you want your new wife to wear it?

02:19:13 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

But I think that there's a difference because this girl never became his wife. So that's just my thought.

02:19:19 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 1:

She still wore it with thinking that she was going to.

02:19:21 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Michael, what do you think? Am I the a-hole? Do you think Eric's an a-hole? And please don't swear?

02:19:27 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, I won't. First of all, hello, Mojo, and good morning, everybody. Good morning. First time, long time. Hey, Michael. Okay, so this is what I think. I think he needs to sell that ring, and he needs to get a new one for the new girl. And even though he likes the style, then just duplicate the style. But the energy of the old ring with the energy of the past relationship is there. And I agree with Shannon. No secrets, right? I mean, no secrets with the new relationship. Be open. Be clear.

02:20:00 - 02:20:02 | Speaker 9:

but I think it's starting fresh and starting new is the way to go. Yeah.

02:20:02 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Michael. Appreciate you. Christina, you want to say something? What's up, Christina?

02:20:08 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 7:

I agree completely, exactly with what Michael just said. Bringing that negative energy into the marriage, into the relationship is not good. You've got to find out.

02:20:18 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 3:

There's nobody that's saying keep the ring. Hold on. Sue may be close. What's up, Sue?

02:20:24 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 6:

Hey.

02:20:25 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:20:27 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

02:20:28 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Hi. What do you think, Sue?

02:20:30 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 5:

So I think he should remove the diamonds from that ring and just make it into a new ring.

02:20:35 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 3:

Shannon says no on that one. She says you've got to get rid of the whole. No, it was still worn. Yeah.

02:20:42 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 5:

I agree, but I mean, the diamonds are, you know, the diamonds. So it's still in a whole new set. He can add diamonds to it.

02:20:50 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 3:

So he can use the diamond. So what about that? What about the idea if he takes a whole new ring and makes that just the diamond?

02:20:56 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 4:

If you're going to do all that work, just buy a damn new ring.

02:20:58 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 3:

But here's the thing. Diamonds, you know, who knows? I don't even know what the price of diamonds are. But it doesn't matter.

02:21:05 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 4:

If you're going to sell it and get some money for it, then you can buy something new. So it's not a matter of affordability because he has something tangible that he can turn in and get money for and buy a new one.

02:21:15 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 3:

Eric, I don't think you're going to get anybody agreeing with you on this one. I think that this is a no-brainer then. Eric?

02:21:23 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 9:

i don't know i guess i'm just an a-hole because i don't want to buy another ring you're lazy

02:21:29 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

you're not an a-hole you're lazy so are you going to do this are you going to give it to her and

02:21:34 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 9:

you're going to see how it goes i mean look i mean i feel like look she likes the ring i mean online uh the same style she likes the ring it's like rings are expensive you know it's just a chunk of metal really i mean i don't understand this energy people are saying all right then do

02:21:51 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 3:

us this favor keep this whole thing there and and get in contact with us after you propose okay and then let us know what happens and then we got to keep we got to keep this under you know wraps for you and then let's see what happens if it ever comes out okay sure all right hold on one second uh sel wants to comment what's up sel

02:22:19 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 6:

i think i hate calling people the a-hole i think what he's doing is making an a-hole decision and if his girlfriend ends up finding out because she will because like shannon said the universe does not like liars does not like deceitfulness yeah if he ends up if she ends up finding out she will lose all respect for him and you know the level of betrayal like me personally if i found out that like someone gave me something not only used but then also like i believe in bad juju that ring clearly has bad juju if it didn't work the first time with the first girl do we

02:23:03 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 2:

really believe though that that was the reason why the ring or the the relationship ended was

02:23:08 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 6:

because the ring itself yeah but like the energy surrounding the ring yeah it's like getting it's like getting what it's like getting a ring from like a divorced parent giving their child

02:23:28 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 3:

their ring like that's like and that's a bad thing i wonder if any couples have ever done that gave a ring to wait hold on dave well at least hey with a divorced couple a baby was born out of it and they gave it to their kids so something good came out of it dave on you say keep the ring He's not an a-hole.

02:23:46 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 1:

Man, no, he's not an a-hole. Let him keep the ring. Because if the shoe was on the other foot and they had some work tools in the garage from their old relationship or their old husband, they'd give them to him. Stop being superficial. Let the man live, bro. Because if you go and buy a new ring and then it don't work out, you're just waiting more time, more money.

02:24:08 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 4:

You're comparing old rusty tools to diamond work.

02:24:13 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 3:

That's what he's doing.

02:24:14 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 4:

Lord, I can't. I'm shutting up.

02:24:16 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Alyssa, what did you want to say?

02:24:19 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 8:

Okay. I said maybe I missed something because I did go get in the gas station and get some gas. But did he say, does she live in Hawaii or Alaska? Like, if she don't have any friends or family around here, he's on the radio.

02:24:31 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 5:

They're going to find out. No, he's not going to find out.

02:24:34 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 3:

Right. Alyssa, who knows? By the way, we do have listeners in Alaska and Hawaii, so I just want you to know.

02:24:39 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 8:

And that's all I was going to say. Y'all are on iHeart, so it could be anywhere. She could be in China listening.

02:24:44 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, we will find out. Let's see how big our listening audience is. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Ah. I can't take it any longer.

02:24:54 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what it sounds like? And we're talking about this crazy construction that's going on outside the building.

02:25:00 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 3:

It sounds like if you go to an amusement park and they have an indoor roller coaster and you hear the roller coaster going over your head. Do you know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. That's what it sounds like to me.

02:25:09 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 1:

Let it, everybody quiet for one second. Can listeners hear that or am I just, am I imagining it? Like it feels like it's reverberating in my body right now. Like I feel like I'm honestly, that's the sound effect. But that's what it feels like.

02:25:31 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 3:

Let me see if I can. You hear that? Yeah. No.

02:25:35 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 1:

I think that's why it's so bad for us

02:25:40 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 3:

It is making our headphones vibrate

02:25:42 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second, hold on Zach, get on your phone And if you can do me a favor Will you go outside and find out how long This is going to be going on for We understand it's the DTE people Which by the way Shouldn't they be working on lines Why are they drilling ground I thought it's all power lines Hold on a second. Zach, where are you at?

02:26:09 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hey, guys. How's it going?

02:26:11 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 1:

Good. Are you out there right now?

02:26:14 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 2:

I'm out there right now. Just ask if you wanted to be on radio. He said no. What are they doing?

02:26:19 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 1:

Ask him how long it's going to be. Say to him, say, listen, my boss Mojo is here, and he's doing a radio show for another hour. Ask him how long it's going to be.

02:26:29 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey, buddy. My boss Mojo is here, and we wanted to know how long. We only have an hour left of the show. How long do you think this is going to take? He's the boss? Oh, he looks mad. He gave me a hell no. Okay. Wait, no, no, no.

02:26:43 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay, appreciate it. No, no, no, no, no, no, BS. I want to know. How long is this going to be?

02:26:50 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 2:

Hey, boss. Sorry to bother you. I'm talking to Mojo right now. He just wants to know. We only have an hour of show left. How long do you think this would last?

02:26:59 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 1:

A few hours?

02:27:01 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, I appreciate it.

02:27:02 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 1:

Is there any way they can wait until after? Can they take, like, a lunch break or a breakfast break? How about I buy him breakfast for an hour?

02:27:08 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

Mojo asked, what if he buys you breakfast for an hour? He said, no, there's a gas leak. Wait a second.

02:27:17 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 1:

There's a gas leak. Wait a second. Are we safe being here, then?

02:27:24 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't look too concerned. Can you please ask that question?

02:27:28 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, ask him if we're safe being here. I don't want, like, the last thing in the world I want is all of a sudden we're. We're safe? Okay. We are safe.

02:27:43 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so they can pause for an hour then. If we fine, we good for an hour.

02:27:49 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 1:

I mean, come on.

02:27:52 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Did you see how far I jumped out of my chair? I know.

02:27:55 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 1:

Zach, how big are these guys? You think you can take them? You think you can take these guys? No, no. They're definitely way bigger than me. Guys that work jackhammers seem like the kind of guys that, honestly, Zach, you would have a problem with. Like, I got a feeling that you and jackhammer guys. Oh, this is what I'm listening to. Hold on a second. Real quick. Is this on Facebook Live? So stay out there. I just want to see what it looks like on Facebook.

02:28:20 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Is this on Facebook Live?

02:28:21 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

Are we on Facebook? What are we on?

02:28:22 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 2:

We are on Facebook Live. They can see you.

02:28:24 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 1:

You can see me? How can I see Zach on Facebook Live?

02:28:30 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she wants you to go live.

02:28:31 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay, hold on. Yeah, I just want to see. Well, no, go live with our normal thing, but can we at least? I just want to see what it looks like. Send me a video then. Hold on a second.

02:28:41 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Send him a video.

02:28:42 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hold on. Steve, what's up, Steve? It's Mojo in the morning. We got jackhammers out in front of our radio studios here. Without you guys saying anything about it, we can't even hear it. I mean, I can't hear it online, and I've got you on. So you can't hear anything at all? so you didn't hear you can't hear it it's just basically it's reverberating in the studio like it literally is giving me that tickle sensation you know the tickle sensation like where you're

02:29:08 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 2:

sitting on top of uh forget it even when you guys all went quiet i didn't hear nothing and i turned

02:29:18 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

the radio all the way up you know what it reminds me of it reminds me of when shannon leaves her vibrator in the studio on. It's not truth. And all of a sudden, I'm like, I can hear a buzzing sound. Hold on a second. Jack Hammer guy is out with Zach right now. What do we got here, Zach? What do we got? Oh, there it is. Oh, here it is. I can see it. Oh, my God, they're tearing up the entire street right now. Look at these guys. By the way, this whole move into Eastern Market thing maybe wasn't the best forethought thing that we ever thought about here at iHeart. This might be.

02:30:00 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 2:

But whoever came up with the concept of this idea maybe didn't think that the city streets might not be very good for us to actually be broadcasting next to.

02:30:11 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 5:

Maybe they should just do it after 1030.

02:30:16 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think the business sometimes starts at nine, though. You know what this reminds me of? Do you guys have neighbors like this? This reminds me of the Saturday morning neighbor.

02:30:27 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 5:

That brings out the leaf blower.

02:30:28 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 2:

That takes out the leaf blower or the lawn mower and starts mowing their lawn on a Saturday morning, the only day that you actually have to sleep in during the week, and you're laying in bed trying to enjoy the nice, beautiful warmth of your bed. And there he is. Hello. Hello. Does that guy not know that I work all the week at 3.30 in the morning? Hold on a second. and Misfit Victor back on with us. What's up, Victor? How you doing?

02:31:00 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I think you guys should send Bianca out there to talk to those guys and just be like, where did you get this jackhammer from? How much does it cost just asking all these questions and maybe they'll just get out of here.

02:31:14 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

At first I'm thinking you're thinking that we should send her because she's pretty and beautiful, but you're right. She should ask so many questions.

02:31:23 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 5:

Like she did at the drug dealers at Lollapalooza. The drug dealer's on the Lollapalooza.

02:31:31 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 2:

By the way, hey, Victor, did you notice how quick Zach backed down from this? The guy's like, I don't care. We're still doing this. And Zach's like, Zach would be a horrible street guy trying to confront people because he's got 500 pounds, Moj. What do you mean? If you punch the guy and run, he's not going to catch you, is he?

02:31:56 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, they looked at Zach, and they're like, who's this high on? This is probably a homeless person walking out here talking to us. Put Zach in a suit out there and a briefcase. They'll treat him differently.

02:32:12 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 2:

Zach, what did you want to say to Victor?

02:32:15 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 3:

No, I was just saying, like, we're not very intimidating when you have Bianca with a phone in his face.

02:32:20 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 1:

All you have to do is run out there with a camera or your phone and just say, I'm putting you on the news, and just keep yelling at that the whole entire time.

02:32:30 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 5:

I feel like you've done that many times, Victor.

02:32:33 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Why not? It's fun.

02:32:35 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Tell him it's Help Me Hank. He got a new job on the radio station.

02:32:40 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, be like, in four to six years, I'm going to have Hank Winchester call you.

02:32:48 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 2:

All right. What's going on? What is going on here? All right, they stopped. They stopped. Wait, listen to this. Zach, they stopped.

02:32:57 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm working on it.

02:32:58 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 2:

What do they do? Did you invite them to come into the studio? Tell them I got a bar in here. Tell them that I can give them a cocktail or something.

02:33:05 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 4:

Bianca's now talking to them to distract them a little bit. Okay. Yeah, I took your advice. She's just asking about their jackhammers and stuff.

02:33:14 - 02:33:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, this is good. This is nice and quiet. Peace.

02:33:18 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God.

02:33:19 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 2:

This is wonderful. All right, Zach, good job. Nice work. I appreciate it. It works. Mojo in the morning.

02:33:24 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 5:

What's that? Sounds stupid.

02:33:26 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 1:

Stupider than hell by now.

02:33:28 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 5:

You are nasty. You are stupid.

02:33:30 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 2:

All right. Peace and quiet. Tickets now to see Tate McRae. Text Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500 for a chance to go to Saturday's sold-out show. That's Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500 and a chance to go. Funeral home, Tom, what do you think?

02:33:51 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 1:

Usually there's 10 guys standing over the hole just looking in there. What's going on here? They all want to work?

02:33:57 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable. We found the one crew that actually does their job. This is amazing, Tom.

02:34:04 - 02:34:08 | Speaker 1:

It's so true. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:34:08 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 2:

All right, what do you got in this hour's dirty, Shannon?

02:34:10 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I mean, the big dirty of the morning was at 12, 12 a.m. Overnight, all of the Easter eggs were confirmed to us. And Taylor Swift is indeed going to be tomorrow's guest on the New Heights podcast. Such a nice color on you.

02:34:26 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I know. It's the color of your eyes, sweetie. That's why they match so well.

02:34:31 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 5:

We're on a new podcast. She also dropped the news that she is releasing her 12th studio album. So I wanted to show you something.

02:34:43 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:34:43 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 5:

What do we got?

02:34:44 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

We got a briefcase.

02:34:48 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 5:

Yep.

02:34:48 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 3:

Mick Green with TS on it.

02:34:50 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Yep. What's in it? This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl. Yeah, and here's the thing. She's already since 12, 12 this morning.

02:35:00 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 1:

dropping some major clues about the life of a showgirl, including her brand new, very curated Spotify playlist, which I hate talking about Spotify because you should be listening to the iHeartRadio. Yeah, it's free. But this is where this is coming from. The playlist features 22 songs, and it's the producers of these songs that Swifties are saying a major hint. And the majority of those songs, in fact, I think maybe only all of them, are Max Martin produced. The last time they worked together, by the way, was Reputation back in 2017. So it's her playlist on there that has like very specific songs on it. Do you care about what the songs are? No, give me titles. I want to hear some titles. Okay, so the songs on here, 22, Bad Blood, Blank Space, Delicate, Endgame, Gorgeous, How You Get the Girl. Why is she still... I knew you were trouble. But why is she...

02:35:55 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

Quick question, why is she still remaking songs if she now re-owns her stuff.

02:36:00 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. I think this is like another Easter egg of maybe the producer she's working or worked with on the new album. Oh, oh, oh, oh. And again, we don't have a release date yet. So maybe we'll get some of those details on tomorrow's New Heights episode, which drops at 7 p.m. So just listen to that. Very nice. In a new interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Jennifer Aniston talking about all sorts of stuff from Brad Pitt to being friends with Gwyneth Paltrow to her late Friends co-star, Matthew Perry. And she said that she and the rest of the Friends cast, I found this really interesting, were not at all shocked, unfortunately, when he passed away. In fact, they had been mentally mourning Matthew long before his passing. She shared that his battle with addiction felt like a slow goodbye to her. And she was reflecting that, you know, when he when the news did come across in October 20, 2023, was it? yeah, that he had passed. She said it was very, very painful, but she just had this very relieved feeling that he was finally free from suffering. And she actually was recalling texting him on the day that he died. They had a text conversation and she said he seemed happy, healthy, committed to getting better. And then fast forward a few hours, he was gone. Well, he didn't think he was going to

02:37:17 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 2:

die. Right. I mean, obviously he was still just trusting these other people that were giving him

02:37:22 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 1:

all these drugs sad yeah chris brown and his daughter royalty surprised a 13 year old super fan and her single mom at one of his breezy bro uh breezy bull shows this week with ten thousand dollars front row seats and a brand new car that gesture captain night that included uh the fan attending the show meeting chris and getting to spend some time with him before the show started and machine gun kelly lots of rumors about him and sydney sweeney after they were spotted getting kind of cozy in Las Vegas together a couple of weeks ago. Last night on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen just flat out asked him. Kyle P

02:38:00 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

wants to know if there's any truth to the rumor you and Sidney Sweeney were more than just friends. Kyle P, shut up, dude.

02:38:08 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 1:

Not necessarily a yes or a no to me, but that was his comment. For everything you missed today, you can catch up on the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

so she's uh she's got a uti okay and that's that's not something she usually gets really unless you know she's been active in a certain way and we haven't been active

02:39:04 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 2:

like that for about a month now so you think that because she has a uti that she's been sexually active with somebody else other than you since you guys aren't together

02:39:16 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 1:

But you can get a UTI from a lot of different things. Like, I understand sex is usually the main cause of it, but that's not just the only way.

02:39:24 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 2:

Why would you say you guys are not having sex? What's the reasoning for that?

02:39:31 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 4:

We just got in a fight a little while ago regarding some family stuff. And now we're just, we're not having a good time. And she, I don't know. It's just kind of what it seems like right now. I'm not having a good time.

02:39:48 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 2:

John, why all of a sudden do you think that this ex of hers is in her life?

02:39:55 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 4:

Because I've seen missed calls from him, and I've seen missed calls. that she hasn't taken from him.

02:40:04 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 3:

So is this unusual that they still communicate with each other?

02:40:10 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 4:

For the amount that they are, yeah. You know, they would talk here and there, but now it seems like they're talking quite a bit lately, and, you know, they wouldn't be doing that if it was just friendship.

02:40:22 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 3:

So, John, you gave us the number of your wife's ex, and you want us to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses.

02:40:32 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 5:

Uh-huh.

02:40:33 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 3:

This would be very wild because usually it's somebody that's on the phone testing out their spouse. You're actually testing out your spouse's ex.

02:40:45 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 2:

I mean, but he's still testing his spouse.

02:40:47 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. All right, we're doing the War of the Roses this morning and this is going to be very, very awkward to be able to tell this guy that we have a husband on the phone that thinks that his wife is messing around with him. Mute your phone, and we're hoping that this guy does not send flowers to Belle, who is John's wife. It's War of the Roses.

02:41:26 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 2:

hello hi is this kaden yeah hi kaden my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses it's a promotional offer totally free and the flowers will go out a little bit later on this

02:41:52 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 5:

afternoon? Yeah, if you can make it quick, sure. Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six

02:42:00 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 2:

months, Caden? No. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? No, not really. Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So again, they go out today, a little bit later on and I just need a first and a last name of who you would like these to go to and they can

02:42:26 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 5:

be out of state uh sure um uh Lana L-A-N-A okay and a last name okay do you know her phone number yeah um it's

02:42:43 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 2:

seven okay in her relationship to you it's my wife okay okay okay then we're gonna send those flowers off you can expect to receive them uh later this afternoon like i said and i just need really quickly to let you know that this call was being recorded for quality and training purposes Are you okay with that?

02:43:10 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:43:11 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And we'll be sending you some information about some specials that we have really, really soon, okay?

02:43:20 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:43:21 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay, thanks, Caden.

02:43:24 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, sure. Bye-bye. Thank you.

02:43:29 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 3:

John. Ayo. Send him to his wife.

02:43:36 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that guy sounds, from everything I understand, he's a bit of a loser. So if he's sending it to her, good for her. I hope so. I hope this steers things on the right track and that she's true. I mean, he sounds like a bit of a mess, so hopefully it's better. You know, this puts things kind of at ease for me, a little bit at least.

02:44:04 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know how at ease it's going to be because your wife is on the other line. Really? We had to call her up because we had to let her know what was going on. And we wanted to let her know kind of what we were doing by calling him up. And hold on one second, okay? Okay. Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. bell

02:44:38 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 5:

yes i'm here

02:44:41 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 3:

bell say hi to john hi bell say hi

02:44:50 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 4:

hi

02:44:52 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

bell john contacted us here because he was worried that something was

02:45:00 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

going on uh that uh maybe you were still kind of close to a uh an ex of uh of yours

02:45:09 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 6:

and um what's that i'm sorry no i don't know what he's talking about absolutely not well

02:45:20 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 2:

we just we we're just trying to see what kind of relationship you do have with uh with your ex, Caden?

02:45:30 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 5:

There's no relationship. Did you not just hear what I said? No relationship at all. There's nothing, absolutely nothing going on.

02:45:38 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 2:

Not doing anything. Do you still talk to him?

02:45:42 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 5:

Not really. That's the past.

02:45:45 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 1:

Does he ever try to reach out to you? Sometimes. But it's not that serious.

02:45:52 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 2:

Do you talk to him when he does reach out to you?

02:45:55 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes.

02:45:57 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 2:

And is it just a friendship that you guys have, or do you guys have nothing at all?

02:46:06 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 6:

It's nobody's business. That was a long time ago. That's the past. Why are we focusing on the past? He's in the past. My husband is my present and my future.

02:46:19 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 2:

And John, do you want to say anything?

02:46:23 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 4:

Very reassuring to hear. you know you know me I get really in my own head and I can't see past my own feet sometimes I'm happy to hear that you know she's committed to this

02:46:38 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 6:

why would you not think I love you

02:46:42 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know

02:46:45 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to put you guys on hold right now and let you guys just have a conversation with each other and And you guys probably have a little bit more talking that you should do. Hold on one second. Do we think he's just a guy that has a jealousy issue? And maybe their struggles that they're going through right now is making it worse? Or do we think that there was a little bit of defensiveness on her part when she was asked about her ex? I don't know. There's a lot of thoughts. And I'd love to know what your thoughts were. You, Shannon, and the listeners. We'll take some calls. Hold on one second.

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:47:52 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 3:

02:47:58 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Where are the roses? And a husband jealous and suspicious that his wife is cheating because they've been getting into fights with each other, haven't had sex in a while. He said that she's got a UTI. He thinks that she got that through sex. Could you explain that to me, by the way? Because I...

02:48:16 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 1:

That is a thing. I mean, if you have a lot of sex...

02:48:17 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 2:

I have a wife, but I don't understand the whole thing.

02:48:21 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 1:

sex you know it's bacteria thing you can develop a uti but you can develop a uti from like being dehydrated being constipated there's like a lot of it but that is like i would i'm not a doctor i would say that's probably the most common yeah way to get one um to me i i get where john is coming from in being uneasy that a lot of these things when you put them together look kind of Like if I looked at Wes's phone and he had a ton of missed calls from his ex-wife, would I go, what is happening? And raise an eyebrow. Yeah. That being said, he, they very specifically said there were a lot of missed calls and ones that she hasn't taken. So to me that, that, that showed that her ex is trying to reach out to her, but she's not answering the phone calls. Do you know what I mean? so that's kind of more on the ex-husband who's married we heard him send flowers to his wife but that's more on the ex-husband why does he continue to reach out but she's not picking up

02:49:24 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 2:

his phone call lydia bianca is this an ex-husband or is this an ex ex sorry i'm just assuming i know

02:49:30 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 1:

what do we have here do we know it is just like an ex-relationship i don't think they were married

02:49:35 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 2:

so they were never married okay you see what i mean like if he's calling and calling and calling

02:49:39 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 1:

and calling fine that's on him but the way that he made it sound she's not answering but you don't

02:49:45 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

think though that even if she's not answering she could say this guy my ex and tell her husband my ex keeps calling me why is that calling and that's a that's a huge piece of it absolutely danny i want to know what your thoughts are danny hi

02:50:00 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, Mojo. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. Hey, I'm surprised. How come you guys didn't do a two-way call?

02:50:05 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you mean a three-way call. So were we three-way calling them? Oh, a three-way call, yeah. The reason was he did not want to do that. And at first he did not.

02:50:13 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 4:

I think he would have found out the information if you guys did that.

02:50:16 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something? He did not want us to bring her into this at all. We could never, ever do this War of the Roses if we didn't have her to be part of this. because to be quite honest with you, that would be just us calling him up, seeing where he sends the flowers to, he sends them there and going, okay, good. I think that we always had to have, you know, her involved in this. And you're right, a three-way call would have been better doing it, but I think we thought that he was going to send the flowers to his, you know, his girlfriend or this girl, to Belle.

02:50:50 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 4:

Did we know that he was married before you guys made the call or no?

02:50:53 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, no, I didn't have a clue about that. Neither did our producers have a clue. Love you guys, man. Hey, we love you too, buddy. Listen, I'm going to be quite honest with you. It was one of those ones where it was like fly by the seat of your pants, but then also if it wasn't for the reaction that John's wife, Belle, gave to the whole, hey, you know, we called your ex, and she got kind of defensive. I don't even think we would air this. I think it would be a non-War of the Roses. What's going on, David?

02:51:28 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how you doing?

02:51:30 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 2:

Good, man. War of the Roses. Comments here.

02:51:33 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, man, I think she's got something else going on. She's still talking to her ex, and I don't know. I don't think he's overthinking it at all. I think there's something else going on.

02:51:42 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 2:

Does that come from the way that she reacted?

02:51:47 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, kind of. I mean, she admitted that they still talk and it's nobody else's business. I think that's pretty shady. Yeah.

02:51:55 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 1:

She also, to me, I don't know what to think about this one, but she also, to me, sounded very exasperated and frustrated when she kept saying, this was my past. This was my past. This was my past. Like John has been constantly, you know, on her about something else going on.

02:52:10 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think you're giving her too much credit.

02:52:13 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 1:

I actually don't sway one way or the other on this one.

02:52:16 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 2:

Alex, what's up? Your thoughts? Hi, Alex. Is your name Alex or is your name not Alex? I don't know.

02:52:24 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my name is Alex.

02:52:26 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Your name is Alex. What's happening, Alex? Alex. And you have an accent, too. I love it. What's going on, sexy accent guy?

02:52:34 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

02:52:35 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 5:

Not much. Just commenting on the...

02:52:39 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:52:39 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead.

02:52:39 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? Go ahead. You're on the radio right now. What's happening?

02:52:44 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 5:

All right. This is my first time.

02:52:48 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 4:

But, yeah, I just want to say that she's got to be cheating.

02:52:55 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 2:

Because?

02:52:57 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 4:

She jumped to conclusions too quick. I didn't like it.

02:53:01 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 2:

I felt the same way, too. I felt like she got so defensive. Don't you think so, Alex? Yeah. Alex, you're killing me. You're killing me.

02:53:12 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 5:

Today, Junior.

02:53:14 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 2:

Alex. Thank you for the call, Alex

02:53:19 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 4:

All right

02:53:21 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God Lee, what's up, Lee? Hey, what's going on, Mojo? Well, aside from the fact that Alex almost put me to sleep there What's going on?

02:53:34 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, man I feel like he kind of double-crossed down there I don't think he should have told his wife I feel like he probably texted the other guy and warned him Wait, but we didn't do it.

02:53:49 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

We didn't contact his wife, though, until after he sent the flowers. No, John's wife? Yeah, we did not contact Belle until after her ex sent the flowers to his wife, just so you know that.

02:54:03 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay, all right. All right, well, from my end, listen, I thought you contacted him.

02:54:07 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, no, no, no. Just so you know, we contacted after the flowers went to this guy. What's the guy's name? Caden? Yeah. After Caden sent flowers to his wife and we, you know, talked, it was, all right, get Bella on the phone because now we got to confront her and see what she thinks of this whole thing.

02:54:25 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 5:

Okay, okay. Yeah, I still didn't like her reaction, though. You know, she was real sad off. It's like, I don't want to talk about my ex. Like, if it was just in there, she wouldn't have a problem with, you know, talking about her ex or it being closer, you know? She would say what it is, you know?

02:54:39 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, and I, I appreciate you, Colin, in saying this because I think that, you know, you're right. It does sound like we double-crossed, like you said, you know, John and this one here. But we have to kind of explain that, and I probably needed to explain it more, that after he sent the flowers, the ex sent the flowers to his wife.

02:55:00 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 1:

We were like, all right, we got to get her on the phone. By the way, you notice all guys calling. I love this, man. We're going to have guy ratings this month. I'm excited. Ali, what's up, Ali? Another guy. Welcome to...

02:55:11 - 02:55:12 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you guys doing?

02:55:12 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 1:

95.5. What's going on?

02:55:15 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. How are you guys doing?

02:55:17 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. What's your thoughts, Ali?

02:55:19 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I kind of feel sorry for the dude because she's 100% playing him. I mean, it went from when you guys brought up, hey, you talked to him. she said absolutely not to oh sometimes to maybe to none of your business and then i feel like at the end of it she tried to divert it by saying oh why do you think i don't love you instead of saying hey why do you think i'm unfaithful so it was just a whole lot of it was really weird and i kind of feel sorry for me but there's something going on whether it's with her ex or someone else

02:55:45 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 3:

what's with the missed calls though that's the piece i can't wrap my brain around is if she's not answering these phone calls like that to me just sticks out his number too like she's got

02:55:55 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 2:

every opportunity i don't think we asked him i don't think we asked him enough questions regarding that i mean he did say i i kind of did hear him when he did say oh like i i saw some calls that were missed and some other calls but i don't know if he said she answered or not yeah he said once he hadn't taken him yeah i i yeah that's what he said i mean maybe maybe that's what he saw but i think you'd have to ask him more questions regarding that if he's calling they're definitely talking because why else would he be calling her and and and i i think i think he he sees it he knows what's going on and uh uh you know he he just doesn't want to take that step or he's afraid

02:56:30 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 1:

to me and ali we got to trust a guy's intuition like we trust women's intuition women always say in war of the roses you got to trust your a woman's intuition a woman's gut if we're not letting the guys also have that then we're totally double standard in this one and i think people

02:56:46 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 2:

have oh 100 100 mojo and like i said i believe the right flag in this situation was her trying to divert it by saying why do you think i don't love you instead of her saying why would you think i'm not faithful to you and i think that's that would be it for me 100 thanks ali appreciate you

02:56:59 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 1:

by the way hey no problem ali should i should i allow it be all guys calling in or should i take

02:57:04 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 2:

a woman's call here right now oh it's okay to hear both sides no no no i kind of like this i kind of

02:57:09 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 1:

like this though this is shannon jenna this is enjoyable for you hanging out with a bunch of

02:57:12 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 3:

guys today no i actually want to hear the female perspective toya what's up toya hi

02:57:17 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 6:

hey y'all what's up good morning down this week y'all doing a good job thank you what do you think i agree with the other caller without lien with the other folks said and this is my thing you're married right why are you even communicating with an ex it don't sound like y'all got kids it don't sound like y'all share a dog it don't sound like y'all gotta split deals like why are you even talking to him in the first place so i think like i said like i at least said it is a red flag because you don't need to be communicating with him and this cause or not i think shannon maybe she was busy to answer but then she's calling him back you know so they are definitely communicating and it is a red flag and i hope i think john is his name i hope he figured that

02:58:02 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 1:

out real soon toy you're the best i'm glad we added you to the call uh jenna is it janice Janice? Janice. What is it? Is it Janice?

02:58:14 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 4:

That was Janice.

02:58:15 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 1:

Janice, yeah, I was right. It's spelled phonetically on my board. Oh, okay.

02:58:19 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was J-A-N-I-C-E. I'm like, it's Janice.

02:58:24 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Janice?

02:58:27 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 4:

So I had a really gut feeling that if you guys contacted the wife, Would she have had the opportunity to contact the other guy?

02:58:40 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:58:40 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 3:

But we didn't.

02:58:41 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 1:

Right.

02:58:42 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 3:

We didn't do it in that order.

02:58:43 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 1:

And we didn't. We actually contacted her after he had already sent the flowers off. So he had no indication that we were calling. Unless he's a listener, which he could be a listener.

02:58:53 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, I wondered because I just felt like it wasn't very genuine. I just felt like there's more to it. And she was a little defensive. So I just feel like there's a little more to it. The words that she has the feeling that she might want to pursue it, that she was just being defensive and blowing it off.

02:59:14 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 1:

And you know what? You could be right. I mean, I'll have to go back and listen to when Shannon called and talked to him. How did he sound when he sent the flowers right away to his wife? Could be he was a listener. Brianna, last call on this one. What's going on? Hi, how are you guys? Good morning. We're good, Brianna. What are your thoughts on War of the Roses?

02:59:33 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so did anybody notice that when you guys called him, he called her his girlfriend? And then when you got the wife on the phone, she said that was his wife. I was completely shocked. I think he has a girlfriend. And I think that he was expecting that guy to send flowers to his girlfriend. But then you got the wife on the phone and he was a little shocked. Like he sounded a little rattled that she kind of popped in and was like, hey. Yeah. No, it, uh, I'm telling you, I think we got more to explore Brianna. What are your thoughts?

03:00:06 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 3:

I definitely do because I'm not going to lie. I've been that person that stayed friends with their exes while they were in a relationship. I always have, but my current boyfriend that I've been with for four years now, he did not like it. He was not a fan at all. And pretty much it was like, pick the boyfriends or pick me. So I let it go and I don't talk to my ex boyfriends anymore but i still feel pretty strongly about the fact that you can be friends with an ex like if you end on good terms and you were friends beforehand who says that you can't so i used to get really defensive as well when my boyfriends would accuse me or get angry and say like hey i don't know why are you talking to your ex that's weird but like they were my friends so i was like you need to understand like i was friends with this person for two years before we started dating Like, I'm not just going to drop them.

03:00:53 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I got to figure out what the level is of this because I don't trust any guys. But I also agree with you. I agree that you can be friends with exes.

03:01:03 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 2:

The home of the second date update.

03:01:05 - 03:01:06 | Unknown:

Throwback throwdown.

03:01:06 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 2:

War of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. Text the show anytime and tell us what we can do better. Or we'll be screwed up. Or what damn idiots we are. Send to 95500. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:01:21 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. We've got a lot of stuff coming up on tomorrow's show. Tomorrow, five lies to tell your mom. It's already Wednesday. Second date update tomorrow morning. And then trip to Florida at 730, Tate McCray tickets throughout the whole show. So make sure you're listening. We have some in-studio friends that are with us right now. And this is wild to get to put a face to the voices that we get to talk to. but this one voice we talk to all the time and we always wonder why is there a person from virginia listening to our show and then we realize we need a little although wait a second are you from a part of virginia or it's not like west virginia right west virginia that's a totally different part of it that's you're like you're like fancy virginia right you're like close to the beach a lot of military pull the mic grab the mic over here This is listener Jen, who brought in, who's the whole family? Explain who everybody is here.

03:02:21 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 1:

So, my name is Jen, and this is my daughter, Bo Vivian, right here next to me. My husband, Matt.

03:02:26 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you're doing first and middle names.

03:02:28 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 1:

I can't help with this one. I always say Bo Viv.

03:02:31 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 5:

Is she like a bad kid, and we have to always do it, or no?

03:02:33 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I just didn't pick Bo. They did.

03:02:36 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

03:02:37 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 1:

I picked Vivian, so it's Bo Viv. You got to get it in there. You got to get it in there.

03:02:40 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 5:

Bo Viv. All right, go ahead. Keep going again. I'm sorry. My husband, Matthew. Hi, Matthew. How are you?

03:02:44 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Sorry, Matt.

03:02:46 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 5:

Matt. Matt. Hi, Matt. Matt, what's Matt's middle name?

03:02:50 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 1:

Alan. Matthew Allen.

03:02:51 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 5:

Hello, Matthew Allen. How are you?

03:02:53 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 1:

And this is my daughter, Stella. Stella Kay. Stella. I love your name, my niece's name. And this is Mason, who we brought from Virginia. This is her boyfriend. Oh, nice to meet you.

03:03:01 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 5:

Do we like him? Do we like him?

03:03:02 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 1:

We wouldn't have brought him otherwise. He's made it to close to two years, and we're big fans.

03:03:06 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 5:

Wait, how old are you? How old? How did you get to bring a boyfriend on a family trip? Is that a Virginia thing? That's what you said?

03:03:14 - 03:03:14 | Unknown:

No.

03:03:14 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 5:

are you sleeping with the are you sleeping with dad though like is dad watching out for you and making sure you got an ankle change i always wondered about that that was always kind of interesting thing like in and now listen i never had a girlfriend to bring with me on a on a trip but i always wondered like the parents that would let the the girlfriends go on the trips in you know or i'm sorry not the girlfriends the boyfriends like if i had a daughter i think i would honestly should be in a chastity belt for the rest of her life knowing how guys like me thought and i know you think things like this kid i'm gonna we're gonna have a talk he's trying to be serious i know he's he's like not why am i here right now i'm a virginia kid i don't even know this detroit thing you know we do kids like you in detroit we'll tell you well right oh right jen absolutely but uh but the parent did you ever go on uh trips with your oh i went i went on trips

03:04:09 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 4:

with my high school college boyfriend because i dated him for like seven and a half years i went vacations with their family his family all the time i don't think he ever came on one with us maybe to like cedar point or something for an overnight but not would you guys we did the

03:04:22 - 03:04:26 | Speaker 5:

parents were they like his parents like hawks watching over you guys to make sure you guys

03:04:26 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 4:

weren't together no they didn't care oh christ wait they were very very laid back really yeah

03:04:33 - 03:04:44 | Speaker 5:

oh my god oh my god watch out a little teenage pregnancy happening here watch out i mean it didn't. No. Wow. Jen, what do we think here, huh?

03:04:44 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 1:

So, what I think, I'm a little bit unconventional, but I, I, oh, believe me, the family in the raised eyes, like, I'm sorry, what? You brought who? And what's going on? Because we've been way down there. But I'm a very open parent. My daughters don't talk.

03:05:00 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 4:

to their friends about all of the things they talk to me about all of the things because i don't expect then they're not lying yeah yeah yeah and so to that end it's really very interesting that where i was a wild child running away you know do all this crazy stuff and i did you have the

03:05:15 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 1:

parents that were hawks watching over you all the time they and the church and the baptist and

03:05:19 - 03:05:24 | Speaker 4:

everything like they say it's funny so much more conservative the more freedom i've given them well

03:05:24 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 1:

this is the interesting thing the interesting thing is and this is the part that i always thought was was wild the parents that in my I had no supervision growing up and I never was like bringing people home to my house although I was you know the fat kid I couldn't get laid I went to an all-guys catholic school but long story short the kids whose parents and it usually was the girls whose parents were the ones that like you're saying like the the religious baptist you know whatever the deal is whatever we were around catholics and those were the girls that were sneaking out in the middle of the night doing all kinds of crazy stuff and it was the parents who were the ones that were kind of you know letting you have your fun uh not so much have your fun but

03:06:07 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 4:

like we're understanding that you were a kid right so i look at it more like i i know when they're going through whatever developmental stage they're going through and i don't want them to lie or have to hide it from me yeah so it's not like i'm going you know here go out and go wild i don't allow them to go to dangerous situations ever. But if you're going to go to a party or somewhere against my rules and something goes wrong, the longer it takes me to find out where you were are is the longer until I can help and find you.

03:06:37 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 1:

And Matthew has shown you his guns too, right, Matthew?

03:06:42 - 03:06:44 | Speaker 2:

I've got a subscription. They come monthly.

03:06:47 - 03:07:26 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny is that Chelsea has her concealed weapons license and stuff. I should not be around guns. I shouldn't be trusted around water guns, let alone, you know, around regular guns. And Chelsea gets this magazine that comes to our house every single month. So what we do is we lay them out all over the coffee table. So it looks like in our house we have just, like, random, you know, guns all over the place and stuff. And my friends come over all the time going, those are your books. And I go, no, look at who it's addressed to. And it says to Chelsea right on top of the thing. Well, Jen's been listening to this show for how many years now?

03:07:26 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 4:

Since the very first day.

03:07:27 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Wow. And has made her kids. How bored have you guys been?

03:07:32 - 03:07:33 | Unknown:

Never bored.

03:07:33 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 1:

Never? Did we teach you the birds and the bees and all the rest of that stuff or no?

03:07:38 - 03:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Every morning I come downstairs and I help her fold her towels and that'll just be on in the background. It's getting to the point where I'm like, why isn't it on? Really?

03:07:47 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Are we missing the dirty on the 30? Are we missing War of the Roses? That's her favorite. War of the Roses.

03:07:51 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 1:

really all right you like five lies why have we not done five lies on your mom yeah

03:07:57 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 4:

it'd be awesome you guys would love me on five lies yeah i would lose it so quickly with the

03:08:05 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 1:

funniest is we'll have like there are situations where and out of all the stuff that we've done phone scams war of the roses five lies moms will go i would never fall for that and pretty much

03:08:17 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 3:

everyone we do like mom is a listener and the great still falls for it i would yeah i would

03:08:23 - 03:09:05 | Speaker 1:

in a minute i think they hear the line they're just like what'd you say yeah well the greatest is it's usually a situation that could potentially happen yeah so that's the thing so you and i will call mom up a little bit and we'll talk about this guy here oh yeah you are wishing you never came on this trip are you you're having a blast all right i love it is the radio station visit the best part of this entire thing no no I get it all right um hey Lydia tell us about Jen as far as a caller and a listener when she calls into the show uh is she one of your top tier ones or how do you feel because I know she's here right now so it's got to be good yeah and

03:09:05 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 3:

she was also one of the most welcoming listeners when I first started answering phones and she's always willing to help me out if I like wanted her to make a comment or even if I would call her out of the blue and say hey can you just say this for me she will wow that is so good wait a

03:09:18 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 1:

second i love john you call listeners and tell them to say stuff for you or is it usually nice things about us or what is it isn't that what producers do that okay all right i appreciate that i'm a misfit for 20 years how you're not misfitty though like you're not very mis like

03:09:31 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 4:

you actually seem very normal like you're very oh i'm so selling this right now you have no idea

03:09:37 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 1:

are you serious absolutely has she done herself up to make her seem more normal in the detroit

03:09:41 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 4:

area that had me as a bartender, Gen C, worked with me. Go ahead. Call text. Tell all the stories.

03:09:47 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Wait, call out the places that you worked at over the years.

03:09:49 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

I worked at Players. I worked at BT's. I worked at now Northern Lights, and then I was at the Moose Preserve for 10 years. Wait, Gen

03:10:00 - 03:10:06 | Speaker 3:

worked at bts and players and stuff and we don't have her as a misfit exactly like how jen what is

03:10:06 - 03:10:16 | Speaker 4:

your name in my phone so many subjects that nobody likes to talk about wait what is what is i want jen to say jen what is your name in my phone book what is your name and she can't hear

03:10:16 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 5:

you because of the headphones but what is she's bde jen bde jen is what oh so that is big yeah bde jen i got that because um you guys would talk about rumors of size of stars and whatnot and i have just a wealth of knowledge that i've gathered over the years and so i would always call in so that's what they had me saved as so when i call into the radio they'd literally answer them and

03:10:39 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 3:

say hey jen yeah you know so yeah yeah saying let's talk about uh i knew this was going to go

03:10:45 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 5:

beer going off of which celebrity as soon as you said that biggest celebrity who's the biggest the one that everyone's talking about right now liam neeson so pam is very happy this is a match made in heaven. And how do we know that

03:10:57 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 3:

Liam Neeson's got the biggest?

03:10:59 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 5:

It's so widely known. It's like Milton Burrell. Everybody knows about Uncle Miltie.

03:11:05 - 03:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you know who Milton Burrell is like a classic old guy?

03:11:09 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 5:

Like a TV guy, yeah? Gross. He was ugly as all get out. They say he had the biggest

03:11:16 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 3:

junk ever.

03:11:18 - 03:11:35 | Speaker 5:

Al Franken says in the Saturday Night Live story live from New York that he rolled it out on a table And Al Franken was like, I got to see it. And somebody walked in, a PA walked in, and he's eye to eye with the monster. And that's in the book. It's hilarious. Yeah. So, yeah. I just.

03:11:35 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 3:

What about local celebrity?

03:11:37 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 5:

One of my best girlfriends just sent me a signed DeBar's centerfold. And she's the most famous groupie of all time.

03:11:46 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:11:46 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 5:

Wrote, I'm with the band. I have a signed centerfold from her Playboy spread. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

03:11:52 - 03:12:06 | Speaker 3:
