Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 2:

Alright, are you ready?

00:00:58 - 00:01:00 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:01:02 - 00:01:07 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go. It's showtime.

00:01:07 - 00:01:17 | Speaker 4:

Do people twerk at a Tate McRae concert? I don't think twerking seems like something that I would see at a Tate McRae concert. I'll be twerking at Tate McRae. You will twerk at Tate McRae. Is her music twerkable?

00:01:18 - 00:01:19 | Speaker 5:

Not just her own music.

00:01:20 - 00:01:21 | Speaker 4:

She twerks to her own music?

00:01:22 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I think they... I'll probably send you some videos if you want to see.

00:01:24 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what? I like that. And I like Tate McRae, but I don't know. Don't send that to me. The last thing in the world I want is that on my phone. But I will tell you that she does not seem twerkable. Like, it seems like, obviously, it's fun, great music. Like, twerking for Taylor does not seem like a thing either. People don't twerk at a Taylor Swift concert, do they?

00:01:47 - 00:01:48 | Speaker 5:

I've seen some things.

00:01:48 - 00:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Maybe Shake It Off or something like that?

00:01:51 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 5:

No.

00:01:51 - 00:01:54 | Speaker 4:

Or not Shake It Off. What is it? What's that song? Love Story.

00:01:54 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I could twerk.

00:01:55 - 00:01:57 | Speaker 4:

You can't twerk in a love story. Not with that attitude.

00:01:58 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 5:

I absolutely can twerk to some love story. Really? You can twerk to anything. I don't even know how to twerk, and I don't even got the cheeks for it either.

00:02:05 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 4:

I just don't see it. This is where I wish Kevin was here, because Kevin and I have a semblance of order in the rest of you guys. Wait, what? Kevin and I, one of the things about when Kevin and I are together, we keep the show on the straight and narrow. We like to keep you guys from, I don't know, maybe ruining the show with your twerking at Tate McRae concert stuff, you know? Like, Kevin, if Kevin were here. I think he would join. You think so?

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 5:

He's the craziest out of all of them.

00:02:35 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I think Kevin wouldn't be part of this. Yeah. No, he would not. He would not. Kevin, would you twerk at Tate? Yeah. No, you would not. By the way, this is something interesting. Misfit Victor says that the show has been lacking because of Kevin has not been here, which, by the way, is kind of a rude thing for him to say about this radio show.

00:02:57 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Also, I agree, but very insulting.

00:03:00 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 4:

I think, honestly, him saying that is basically saying that we all are not able to do it without him, which, Kevin, do you think that we're able to do it without you? Yeah. Okay.

00:03:10 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 5:

What is that?

00:03:11 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 4:

So Zach put together a soundboard so that whenever we feel like we're lacking in Kevin being here, like when there's nothing that, you know, because nothing's better than a Kevin laugh. And when something makes Kevin laugh, like legitimately makes him laugh, because he does not fake laugh. Like Kevin could never be part of our show back 10 years ago when we had to fake laugh all the time. He actually would never do it.

00:03:36 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:03:36 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 4:

listen back to some of these old the old shows by the way it's like now it's not not that possible but when kevin truly laughs i mean listen it's like a belly laugh it is it's like a big old fat guy laugh like that's amazing i mean come on that's a great laugh so anytime and by the way call us up and talk to us because if you call up 844-MOJO-LIVE there is a very good chance that you may get Kevin to maybe give you a little shout out too on the radio. You know what I mean? So we're going to have I don't know, Bot Kev.

00:04:18 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Bot Kev.

00:04:20 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 4:

AI Kev. This is really not AI though. This is actually Kev though. This is really him. What can we call this thing? It's like Soundboard Kevin? Could it be Soundboard? I don't know. So there's a soundboard. Kevin is going to give you something. Oh, no.

00:04:34 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Oh, no.

00:04:37 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

I mean, there's so many of these. I love this. Oh, that's so good. Kevin, a quick question for you. Will you be twerking this weekend with Lydia and Bianca at Tate McRae? Yeah. Okay. Really? Do you think twerking at one of those shows is okay? When you piss, you got time for anything. Okay. All right. This is kind of working for me.

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 1:

me um i don't even know where to go now i'm just thinking i'm trying to get kevin is there any way that you can get kevin to say that i am his favorite and this is i don't think he's ever

00:05:12 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 2:

said that once on the show so i can't find that audio really yeah i don't know kevin what do you

00:05:17 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 3:

think do you think that i'm your favorite you know what maybe we should do too to to help fill

00:05:23 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

that void is get kev's dad on oh for his mom we should have he does not like when we get them on when he's here we should get kev's dad to fill in right so this is a perfect opportunity that would be amazing that would actually be good do you think that his dad can make it down here you know and do like the rest of the person i was saying on the phone no no no we gotta get

00:05:43 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 3:

although i love his dad i would gladly welcome him in the studio should i wake him up i don't know

00:05:51 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

maybe let him sleep a little bit longer

00:05:53 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 3:

remember when his mom filled in on that Friday when he overslept and she did the Friday remix

00:05:58 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

oh yeah that was actually very good that was actually very good I would say call Kevin's dad but the problem is that I think that it would probably piss Kevin off like I think Kevin would not be into it

00:06:11 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

you think so?

00:06:12 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

he gets very temperamental if he's not asked ahead of time of that you know what I mean? that's fair and I think he's got boundaries And I want to make sure, Kevin, that I follow your boundaries.

00:06:24 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

You just don't want his dad in here because you know he'll talk for like 90 minutes about one topic.

00:06:30 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

Shows over at 10.30, not 12.30, sir. By the way, how many times did you have to find, was it easy to find, yeah?

00:06:39 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

The yes were easy because every time you mentioned his name in every topic, he's like, yeah. Explain that to me. So every time, you're just like, so Kevin, what? what did you do this weekend? When you say Kevin, he's like, yeah.

00:06:54 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

I've never noticed that.

00:06:56 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Unbelievable. Well, I'm going to tell you this, that we're going to have fun with AI Kevin here or whatever we're calling it, Soundboard Kevin. Where did you put these clips in, by the way? Are they in segues or are they in news?

00:07:08 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Where are they? I believe they are in bits or clips. Clips.

00:07:13 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know if we have something called clips. Do we have something called clips in here?

00:07:17 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Let me check.

00:07:17 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, here we go. Here we go. I got it. I got it. Because I think I erased one here. Which one did I erase? I got yeah.

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

You got on the phone?

00:07:27 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you know, that's one I think I missed. I think it's the on the phones.

00:07:31 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

I got you.

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

I got you on the phone here.

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a good one. That one's so good.

00:07:36 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

God, that is a really good one. How many topics did you have to go through to find these? Or was it pretty much just you just picked whatever was from last Friday?

00:07:44 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

I had to go through at least five. You did? To get on the phone at least, yeah. Really? Oh, yeah.

00:07:48 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Because I feel like yesterday, our 8 o'clock hour, we must have had like 20 or 30 newer Mojo in the Morning, first time, long time callers.

00:07:57 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 3:

Did you get any clips of him talking about boo-booing? Because that's my favorite. Oh my God, do we have it?

00:08:01 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Can we? That's my favorite.

00:08:04 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Every time he says that, I cannot.

00:08:07 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Stop laughing. It's funny too, because whenever we do talk to Kevin about anything, he always will feel like kind of bring the show to a coolness level until he says that he boo-booed. Boo-boos. What? What's up, Jordan? How you doing?

00:08:23 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

All right. You kind of already mentioned it, but if you got his dad on, you guys probably want to go home till dinnertime. I know.

00:08:33 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:33 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

We love him, but the man can talk.

00:08:35 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

His dad definitely can kind of go to different topics. Like, you know, he doesn't kind of, he doesn't keep one thought. But I used to have a program director, Jordan, that back in the day used to say, keep every break to one thought. And his dad does not follow that same guidelines that my old program director used to tell me.

00:08:56 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

It'd be the one day that your wife actually called you guys, where on earth are you?

00:09:02 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 1:

Right, exactly. What's going on?

00:09:08 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Every time. I love it.

00:09:10 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Jordan, let's practice this real quick. Pretend I know you're not a first time, long time guy. You're one of the Hall of Fame members of the show. Pretend. Give yourself a fake name, and then let's have Kevin practice this real quick. What's your name? Mike. Mike. What's happening, Mike? Not much. What's going on with you guys? Nothing much, Mike. You're supposed to say, hey, first time, long time.

00:09:42 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

so you have to say the name i have to say that and kevin has on the phone

00:09:51 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

mike there it is or mike i do it like that is that what i do all right this isn't work

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 4:

all right jordan we'll talk to you later what's that i think you need to drop this is not good

00:10:08 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 3:

radio that is true i'm trying i don't know i'm trying with this whole thing this is not good radio all right we'll talk to you later there we go see you buddy see you man all right all right so that's kind of it for today that's what we got for you have a great day We should actually see if his dad, Kevin's dad, Kevin Irwin I, if Kevin Irwin I would ever want to just fill in for the entire show. I want to see him do the dirty on the 30s. By himself.

00:10:38 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

I will gladly hand over the reins.

00:10:40 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

He can host, like, throwback throwdown and play the throwback throwdown all in the same breath.

00:10:46 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:10:51 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 3:

All right, we'll begin with some contests this morning, and then we'll get the show going. The prize up for grabs. We got tickets to see the Jonas Brothers. What year was this? This was the year that Beyonce headlined Coachella. Teens were daring each other in this year to eat Tide Pods.

00:11:09 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 1:

They are brightly colored, and they're very nicely wrapped, but these Tide Pods are not candy or pizza toppings or breakfast cereal. They are not edible.

00:11:17 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 3:

And DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo. No-brainer was them. What year was it? We'll set you up with Jonas Buckley.

00:11:27 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 4:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:11:36 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 3:

What year was it? Jeff's got the answer for us. Jeff, what year was that? 2018. There you go. Yes. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with the prize. We're going to give you tickets to go see the Jonas Brothers. Congratulations. My wife will be thrilled. Oh, I love that. I love to hear that. She's a big fan. She wanted to get tickets when they were on sale, and I flaked and didn't get them for her.

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you just saved yourself, my friend.

00:12:02 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

Don't even tell her that you won from us, okay? It'd be smart not to.

00:12:05 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Seriously. Oh, I'm sure she'll hear it.

00:12:08 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

Hang on the phone, Jeff. It's nice to talk to you, buddy. We're going to give you a chance to win tickets to see Tate McRae. That show sold out in seconds. You couldn't even get tickets if you wanted unless you're going to StubHub. Win them from us, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Oh, I'm sorry, not 844, text to win this hour. We'll do the call-in at 830. Text to win, text, let's do greedy, G-R-E-E-D-Y, to 95500. Text that, and we'll give you a chance to win tickets to go see Tate McRae. Greedy is the word, and you just send that to our number, 95500. That's all. That's the only word you need to send for a chance to win.

00:12:47 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 3:

We're going to get you caught up on what's trending this morning. Shannon, what you got this hour?

00:12:53 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, Taylor Swift announced her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, yesterday. And Swifties have been working overtime trying to dissect every little Easter egg possible surrounding this thing. Because we don't really have a lot of details yet. One thing that was noticed, actually a couple things that were noticed, but we'll start with this one. The album announcement came on the 12th anniversary of Gaga's applause, and fans are noting that applause played before Taylor's Ares tour shows, and she liked a post linking the dates, fueling speculation of some sort of Gaga connection to life of a showgirl. Now, no official collaboration has been confirmed to me, but definitely could be a big hint there.

00:13:34 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 3:

Have the two done anything together musically? not that i can think of lydia anything from uh she in there gaga and gaga and uh taylor i'm

00:13:46 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

googling it texas if it comes to you but something else with this album is there some shade being thrown at kanye here a million percent and let's talk through this the album is called the life of a showgirl okay when you start typing that title into apple music it actually pops up right before kanye's 2016 album the life of pablo plus the album cover has these orange tones that totally remind people of kanye's pablo cover and let's not forget all of the drama between taylor and kanye that takes us back to 2009 when kanye famously interrupted her vma's acceptance speech things blew up again in 2016 with his song famous we all know the lyrics to that and then there was a whole bunch of back and forth with kim kardashian so swifties are convinced that taylor's latest move is a subtle maybe not so subtle little little play at revenge ufc president dana white confirming that the ufc will host its first ever professional mma fight on the south lawn of the white house time to coincide with America's 250th Independence Day on July 4th of

00:15:00 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 1:

It is definitely going to happen. I talked to him last night, him being the president, and I'm flying out there at the end of this month, and I'm going to sit down and walk him through, you know, all the plans and the renderings, and we're going to start deciding what he wants and doesn't want, but yeah, it's definitely going to happen.

00:15:19 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 4:

Ivanka Trump, very, very involved in planning this event from what I understand. That is going to be broadcast live on CBS amid a new streaming partnership between UFC, CBS and Paramount+. And Dana White swears it could become the most watched MMA event in TV history when it happens. And lastly, could you imagine during a United flight from Newark to Indianapolis, a young woman named Megan Reinardson was hit with severe poo. Well, that's part of the story. Food poisoning from eating an undercooked burger the night before in Portugal. So mid-flight, she runs to the bathroom where violent vomiting and diarrhea turned the airplane bathroom into a biohazard.

00:16:08 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:16:08 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 4:

The flight lands. she was taken off in a wheelchair and the plane's next trip had to be canceled for hazmat cleaning. Why this girl came out on TikTok to call herself a biohazard and say that she was the cause of this, I have no idea. She has gone viral this morning with 25 million views on that

00:16:28 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 2:

video. Have you ever gone into the bathroom of an airplane after somebody left it a complete mess or some people left it a complete mess and then you realize everybody's going to think that you were the one that left it a complete mess. I've had that happen to me numerous times and I almost feel like I have to call out. I actually, I have cleaned the airplane bathroom to make it look

00:16:50 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 4:

like I didn't do all that stuff. Oh, I have said stuff. I have said it is, it's a disaster in there and I swear it wasn't me. Yeah. Just to, because it wasn't, but yeah, you don't want people thinking It's crazy.

00:17:02 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 2:

And a lot of times, you know, it's funny because a lot of times the flights go hand in hand. Like they don't really have time to go clean those things. But, yeah, it's awful.

00:17:12 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 4:

For everything you missed today, you can still check out the podcast. It's Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app. 5 to 655 is coming up here in just a little bit.

00:17:19 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:17:36 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:17:41 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. The text is 95500, so please participate on the radio showgram today. Okay, so yesterday I went to go pick up some Jersey mics and had something kind of interesting happen to me. And I want to call this out because guys do this. Any guys listening to the show right now, I'd love for you to listen up for one second. Because I know that a lot of times we have more women that listen to us than guys that listen to us. and I like that yesterday it seemed like we went through like a span of 10 calls in a row and they were all guys giving opinions on a war of the roses so yesterday I ran into some buddies guys that lived in my old neighborhood uh the old woodlands and um we were at Jersey Mike's I was picking up uh an order I had a to-go order there and the guys had just gotten done they went and golfed, uh, at, uh, one of the golf courses down the street, the, uh, Shenandoah. And we're hanging out, just sitting there talking and doing like what guys like to do, you know, to talk about a bunch of nothing. And as they were getting ready to leave, it was like one after another doing something kind of interesting. The first guy gives me the fist, you know, a little fist, uh, action here where he's like, you know, trying to get me to like do our wonder twin powers or something like that with each other. I kind of COVID handshake is that the COVID handshake Back in the day. Maybe that's the reason I hate it so much because it reminds me, you know. The second guy does one of those like half like shoulder hug type things where he comes in for the half shoulder hug, like yo bro, you know, type thing. The last guy did something that I don't think guys can do. And I wanted to ask this question. He smacked me on the ass like he's as if to say, have a good game. Yeah. You know, you know, the, the things that guys do in sports, like you'll see.

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Like football players, I feel like do it a lot.

00:19:43 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

like great great great job and they smack the ass and i'm like you can't smack my ass when i just ordered a chicken philly cheesesteak you know what i mean like it i just i don't need an ass smack at that particular time matter of fact i don't even want you to give me the fist at that particular time

00:20:00 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 3:

Maybe the bro hug was okay, but I don't like that whole thing. I don't want to say goodbye to you guys and go, hey, guys, man, it's good to see you and stuff like that. Why can't we not bow like they do in China or something? You know what I mean? Let's do a bow to each other or something. Let's do something that's a little bit more, I don't know, civilized than an ass smack. Yeah, I don't think you can do that. I don't like ass slappers.

00:20:24 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 4:

Did you say anything?

00:20:25 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 3:

I kind of like, well, I did one of those, huh, my God, like one of those, like seriously? like I was kind of like shocked by it and I was like oh and then I got in the car and it took me a while to get the car into to you know reverse to back out of the parking spot because I think I was so taken back by it I felt like I was sexually assaulted at one particular time like I wanted to know what was going on I know it was crazy um but I do women ass slap are you guys ass slappers uh no no yeah no you've never ass slapped before um like you've never walked up to a girlfriend and said, hey, you know, great job. Boom.

00:21:03 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 4:

And smacked her. No, the only time I'll ever like touch one of my friend's butts is if, and I guess this sounds weird too, but like if my friend Lindsay is wearing a pair of jeans that makes her butt look good, I'll be like, ooh, look at this booty. And I give her a little like squeeze. But we're weird like that. I don't know

00:21:19 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 3:

if that's normal. Guys turn any kind of a smack like that sexual. Booty looks good and I'll give it a little tap. You will. You will tap the ass. Yeah. Oh, tap that ass. um uh but i i don't know not a normal goodbye yeah by any means no like could you imagine and you know this is the part that's so funny because kevin's out this morning could you imagine what his reaction would be if i ass slapped kevin after he said something on the air that was kind of funny i mean i don't think that it would go it would yeah he would look at you he would give you that look yeah he does and not a good look yeah he would not be happy when you pissed you got off of anything it would not go good uh destiny what's going on it's mojo in the morning how are you good how are you fantastic what do you think of the ass slapper you can't be an ass slapper if you're hanging out in the jersey mics can you um i think he just wanted a little cake a little cake i never thought of it that way uh yeah maybe maybe he just wanted a

00:22:18 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

little cake what does that mean by the funny thing is you don't have an ass for smacking i don't have a great ass for some and i don't even need to say no offense because you are aware of this no i have

00:22:27 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 3:

no ass uh destiny i don't know if you've noticed i actually i have an ass back right into thighs it's hidden though by a lot of fat so that's the that's the the problem there i would like to have uh what are the implants called uh bbl what's going on jackie how you doing hi i was just

00:22:45 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 1:

calling to let you guys know yes i am an ass slapper and so are all my girlfriends we just do it hey what's up well we're just we're just butt girls so we're all like in relationships

00:22:55 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 3:

married i don't i didn't you know realize that until shannon just said that she'll smack ass with the the friends of hers when they're wearing a nice pair of jeans so maybe a little compliment this this is more of a i guess a girl thing than it is a guy thing where my guys at this morning where the guys at that want to talk about uh the fact that they like to ass slap have you ever done the credit card credit card check like right up the butt crack no now that is totally uncalled for that that's asking for a friend that's that's one that's gonna get you in trouble hold on stanley are you there stanley yeah stanley stanley do you ever ask slap your friends when your friends do something good uh i do not know what is your what's your go-to are you i do you give

00:23:40 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 2:

them the fist do you give them a high five either give them a fist or a high five or handshake or

00:23:46 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 3:

something like that okay yeah see that's a little bit more appropriate don't you think what do you think about these these girls that are saying they ass slap all the time have you ever seen girls ass slap like this like they're on a football field or something did you play any

00:23:59 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 2:

sports in high school at all stanley i i bowled i was on the bowling team oh my god stanley on

00:24:05 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 4:

the bowling team this all just is falling into place for me wait the question do bowlers like

00:24:10 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 3:

do they high five after a strike or do they what do they do yeah we high five after strikes yes but there's no ass slapping that's going on after a strike in bowling not really not really no no that's kind of that'd be kind of tough especially if you're putting your hand over that little air thing that's right over there to kind of what do you do when you're bowling when you put your hand over that that air vent that's up there on the ball return are you doing that because you're trying to dry your hand yeah exactly okay all right yeah try that next time though that you're bowling see what happens chris what's going on hey how you doing fantastic what's up

00:24:47 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

oh not much uh no i was just commenting uh i'm i'm i'm an ass slapper sometimes with certain people my friends uh it's like a specific group some of my friends that go back into high school

00:25:00 - 00:25:14 | Speaker 2:

and stuff like that, like, we just kind of mess around with each other, and we just think it's funny because we all played sports together. We all, like, think it's hilarious. And there's always that one guy that is so uncomfortable with it. That's me. It makes it even better.

00:25:14 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 3:

That's me, Chris. I was that way yesterday. It does kind of make it.

00:25:19 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

And because we enjoy seeing his face, like, just, like, almost mortified, and it gives that a little bit more, like, pleasure of, like, oh, my God, he hates it, but, like, let's keep doing it.

00:25:29 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 3:

I jumped so high off the ground, I'm telling you, I got some ups on that one. What's going on, Luke? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Luke, your college hockey team ass slapped a lot?

00:25:40 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. All the time. Yeah. What'd you say?

00:25:45 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, are you a Bronco? Are you a Western guy?

00:25:48 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 5:

No, no. I can't say.

00:25:49 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Oh, you're currently on the team right now?

00:25:53 - 00:25:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:25:54 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And you guys are ass slapping each other. That's cool, though, because you got a lot of pads on at that time, right?

00:26:00 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, but sometimes it's after the game when all the boys are in the shower.

00:26:03 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, wait a second.

00:26:05 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Wait, okay, that's a different level.

00:26:07 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Your ass lapping? It came off a little gay. Wow.

00:26:13 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, it's not.

00:26:15 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 3:

It's a brotherhood thing. Do you guys ever do the credit card thing but do it with your hockey stick? No, no. Will that get you a penalty? Oh, my God. They're ass-slapping on a hockey team in the locker room. I'm going to have to ask my hockey buddies that question. Is that normal? Is that a normal thing? No wonder why you're not telling us what college that you go to.

00:26:38 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, oh boy. Okay. Are we sure? We want to do this. Yeah. Christina, you are going to have to do some acting here. but I also understand that your boyfriend is going to help with a little bit of this Five Lies?

00:33:25 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got my boyfriend in on it, too. Surprisingly, me and Bianca were able to talk him into it.

00:33:31 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right. Well, listen, Bianca can talk anybody into anything. Let's put it that way. All right, here we go. We're going to do this. You guys get everything ready, and you'll kind of hear parts where there'll be some help with this. We're calling your mom up for Five Lies. Here are the lies. 00:34:08 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 3:

I think Caleb said he's going to go fight him.

00:34:10 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Caleb's the boyfriend? Yeah. He's got your honor, doesn't he? Caleb better be strong During this thing Here we go We're calling your mom up Let's see what happens It's five lies to tell your mom

No. Go answer the door. He's already outside, Mom. Caleb? Yeah. What does he want? I don't know he's here looking for you mom I don't know yeah Jake does he even know where your new spot is why is he at my house mom what do I do I'm at home I'm home. Tell him I'm home. You're at home right now? Yeah. All right. I'll go outside and I'll talk to him. Okay.

00:36:05 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know if talking to him is going to work. What? They're outside screaming at each other. I'm not going out there right now.

00:36:18 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 5:

Why? Because Caleb's trying to kick him off the property, Mom. Okay. We don't want nothing to do with him. I don't know why he even showed up at my house. Me either. He has a bouquet of flowers. He's just standing here.

00:36:37 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mom.

00:36:40 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom. Yeah? Hi. How are you doing?

Mom, this is the mojo in the morning show, and Christina and Caleb has you on Five Lines to tell your mom.

00:36:55 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 5:

00:36:57 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 2:

Come on, baby. Oh, my God. And, by the way, Jake is not in front. You don't get flowers, but you do have a guy by the name of Caleb that's a heck of an actor. Oh, my God.

00:37:10 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 6:

He plays his part. I love my son. I love my son.

00:37:16 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom.

00:37:18 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 5:

You got me worked up thinking this is real, Mom.

00:37:21 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Christina, by the way.

00:37:22 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 5:

You got me worked up, shoot. Great job. I'm bringing the car.

00:37:24 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 2:

Christina, what do we call, wait, what do you call Christina? What's her nickname? Boogie.

00:37:29 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 5:

My name is Boogie. Boogie. Boogie. Sorry, that's the only way she would have recognized it was me right away.

00:37:35 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 2:

That's fantastic, by the way. That was actually very good acting, Christina. You guys, you and Caleb were perfect on that one. You guys practice this a bunch?

00:37:45 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 4:

This is all wrong, dog.

00:37:46 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

No, actually, he told me I couldn't practice because it wouldn't be real.

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I like that.

00:37:51 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 6:

You're a natural.

00:37:53 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom, Christina and Caleb won you a prize for five lives. Tell your mom.

00:37:59 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 6:

Awesome.

00:38:01 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 2:

And please, don't call this guy Jake and tell him to listen to this thing on the radio. I don't want this guy coming after us.

00:38:08 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 5:

I was just going to unblock him and tell him what the heck was wrong with him.

00:38:12 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Mom must be a smoke show If Jake's still after you Is that right?

00:38:19 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I think so

00:38:21 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning

00:38:23 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama

00:38:27 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning show Your home of War of the Roses Second date update The dirty on the 30 Shannon went I don't even know what kind of What you went to yesterday But you went somewhere

00:38:39 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 1:

I already feel bad enough Because I'm scared I got this girl fired Or in trouble okay what happened what did she do so i walked into this place of business and i don't want to call them out because like i said i feel like i already made a little oopsie and this girl who was supposed to be working behind it i walk in and there's nobody there and normally there's somebody behind the desk nobody there so i'm like standing standing and i finally realize that the person who was supposed to be working behind the desk is there, but she was sleeping under the desk. Like, full-on sweatshirt over, or hoodie over her head, tied up, curled up in a little ball, sleeping under the desk.

00:39:25 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 2:

She was doing a... Full-on nap. For old Seinfeld fans, she was doing a George Costanza.

00:39:29 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Didn't hear me walk in. I finally had to say, you know me, excuse me. And she woke up.

00:39:34 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 2:

Why did you know she was there?

00:39:35 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, because I am standing there going, where the heck is, you know, where the heck is anybody? So I walk back out toward the front door. I turn back around and then I see her right there.

00:39:47 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 2:

So you're sleeping away. You won't say the business, but is it a business that would not be entertaining to work at?

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. It would be a total snooze fest anyway. Absolutely. So she finally.

00:40:00 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 2:

wakes up and she goes to help me she walks away and then a man who I'm assuming is her boss comes up and I made a comment of poor thing must be so tired and he asked me why I said that and then I was like crap I probably got her in trouble and I don't know the circumstance you know of why she

00:40:21 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 3:

was so exhausted but um because she was sleeping under the desk she was sleeping under the desk

00:40:28 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 2:

and I don't know how he did not see that, but.

00:40:30 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 3:

So, okay, so is Shannon in the wrong for saying poor thing must have been tired and kind of telling the boss that she was sleeping? Because I will say this to you, that, you know, you would think that he would eventually know that she was sleeping, especially if he was there in the back at the time or where was he?

00:40:52 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if he was there in the back or if he had left and come back.

00:40:56 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 3:

And he came back and she was sleeping.

00:40:57 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 2:

And he came back when I was walking in.

00:41:00 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 3:

Do we have any sleepers on the job, listeners, that are listening to us? I would like to know if you have ever gotten busted by a customer. Has a customer ever busted you? I will tell you that I think that it's so funny when somebody does sleep on the job or fall asleep on the job. and it always goes back to Mike when Mike was on the show and he, it was literally the first year that he was on the show but he was not used to waking up in the morning because he was Mike at night, you know, he was doing his night show and he fell asleep on the control board and we literally could hear him.

00:41:41 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

We could hear him, yeah.

00:41:42 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 3:

He was like, like that, like that. At first I thought it was just him breathing into the microphone. Then we realized the station was off the air.

00:41:50 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, that was pretty bad. Accidental, but pretty bad. This girl, I mean, it wasn't even a situation where she was, like, had her head on the desk or anything. Like, she needed to lay out the crown.

00:42:03 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Ben? How you doing?

00:42:06 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 4:

What's up, man? Shannon, you said that little comment on purpose just to get that man to ask why you said that. Absolutely not. You wanted to tell on that girl.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not.

00:42:16 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 3:

So, Shannon said, poor thing must be tired on purpose, you're saying, because Shannon wanted to see this girl get herself into trouble.

00:42:23 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she wanted to be messy for a minute. No, I would never do that. She was. She was f***ing fired.

00:42:31 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 3:

Shannon was the sleeping Karen. That's what she was doing.

00:42:35 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 2:

If I really wanted to get her in mega trouble, I would say the name of the business. Have you ever slept on the job?

00:42:40 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, you didn't want to get her in trouble that much, but you wanted to get her in trouble there. That's what we call dry snitching, Shannon.

00:42:47 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever slept on the job, Ben?

00:42:50 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, for sure, 100%.

00:42:52 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 3:

What kind of work do you do?

00:42:55 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 4:

Maintenance. I'm a maintenance technician.

00:42:57 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

00:42:58 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 4:

I work night shift.

00:42:59 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you find yourself a place to go and get a pillow and a big old blanket.

00:43:04 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 4:

Not at my current job, if they're listening. Never at my current job.

00:43:08 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 3:

I think we just did a little dry snitching on Ben. What's up, Stephanie? How you doing?

00:43:13 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

hi good morning good morning what's going on so i was calling because not me being a sleeper um but i previously worked in the office um and one of my previous co-workers uh the receptionist um at my job she was an older woman um and super super sweet but it was one of the funniest things being reception because almost every time you walk

00:43:41 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 3:

past the front desk for reception she'd be dozing off and what would the bosses do that you and she

00:43:49 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 1:

was sleeping like this um so honestly like she would play it off like really well so they'd be like Mary Jean and she would just like lift her up and she'd be like oh sorry I was looking here at this one thing and I honestly think that they just like she was so sweet they just let it go

00:44:08 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 3:

She was looking at the back of her eyelids, wasn't she? What's up, Day? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on? Hey.

00:44:15 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning. Now, so it happens. Like, stuff happens. That's why you have toilet paper. But I've fallen asleep so many times at work. And, like, I've worked at, like, different places. Yeah. Real quick. Because of my job.

00:44:27 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm in the military. What was the toilet paper comment that you just made?

00:44:31 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, stuff happens. That's why you have toilet paper. Like, you know.

00:44:36 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay. Sorry. Okay. I was like, I didn't catch that at all. I'm like, he's sleeping on toilet paper? So you slept on the job. No, I slept on the toilet paper. Yeah, you slept on the job a few times, huh?

00:44:48 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm in the military, and you're just those days where you're just all tired.

00:44:53 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 3:

You're not sleeping while you're on guard or anything, are you?

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no.

00:45:00 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 6:

that would that would suck yeah yeah can i ask a question of police officers or like security guards because i pass when i come into work i pass this this business right here the rock climbing place okay and they always have a security guard in the parking lot and there's nobody else around it's very very dark and i always think to myself oh that guy is that guy is that guy actually watching the business or is he getting like a good six hours in that parking lot i'm telling

00:45:31 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 1:

you like i don't know how the people that work security in front of our business don't sleep that guy's so wide awake when we show up he's such a good guy this this new security guy but

00:45:41 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 6:

these people i would be sleeping there all the time works overnight she works a 10-hour shift

00:45:45 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 1:

i don't know how they do it yeah that's crazy hold on mystery your husband sleeps on the job

00:45:50 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 2:

uh yeah he does maintenance and he sleeps on the job all the time he says uh one time he woke up to his boss tapping on his car in the window man and so did he get in trouble nope not fired no boss just was like hey uh we got a machine you need to come look at and when you get around and

00:46:10 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 1:

they just understand i worked one time uh came in to the show and the overnight person was sleeping So the overnight person was in the studio, had pre-taped the rest of the show, and was sleeping literally on the floor in the studio. But it came in from a club. What's happening, Emma?

00:46:30 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning. First time long time. Hey, hold on. Wait, hold on.

00:46:34 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

No, we got to do this. Since Kevin's not here right now in studio, we had to have Bot Kev be part of this, and I didn't have it all. I was kind of sleeping on the job there for a second when you just said that. So, hold on. First time, long time, you say? Is that what you just said?

00:46:50 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:46:51 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Here we go. Here we go. There you go, Emma. What's going on?

00:46:58 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, yeah. So, my friend was working at State Farm. She just passed her licensing, and she was sleeping under the desk and got fired.

00:47:07 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. At State Farm?

00:47:09 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 3:

I know.

00:47:10 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 1:

Was it during the middle of the day?

00:47:14 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:47:15 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Yeah, that's probably not.

00:47:19 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 6:

I feel like that's an interesting one because there are other people that work there, I would assume, right?

00:47:23 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so they can all see you.

00:47:24 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 6:

Like a lot of other people that work there.

00:47:26 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

How long do you think they let somebody sleep at a state farm until they realize this person is probably sleeping? And then they wake them up. This would be a job I would sleep at all the time. Alexia works at a nursing home. Is that right, Alexia?

00:47:39 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it was a past job, but it was like the best time of my life. Um, but we, um, we're third shift and we used to sleep on a memory care couch because people would be sleeping, but sometimes some of the residents would come out and they thought it'd be funny and they'd tap on our shoulders and be like, can I get an apple juice when we're trying to sleep and stuff? And, um, yeah, that's where we took our naps.

00:48:03 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 6:

I love what you said when we're trying to sleep yet, they actually need something.

00:48:07 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 1:

A memory couch sounds like it would be comfortable though, doesn't it? Yeah.

00:48:10 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 5:

What is that?

00:48:11 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 1:

Like a memory phone type thing?

00:48:13 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's like a really comfy memory foam couch. Oh, okay, okay.

00:48:17 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 1:

I would honestly sleep there. If I was a resident, like one of those nursing home residents, I'd be like, hey, pull up a little chair and sit right here. You know what I mean? Old people, the smell of old people puts me to sleep. Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

00:48:33 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 4:

Hi, guys. I'm a first-time caller. Hey, Sarah.

00:48:38 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 1:

That was actually good. What's up?

00:48:40 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 4:

so i actually have a comment on this for you guys um i don't work there anymore so who cares uh i used to work at dunham's i think you know of that yes store yes yes well they used to schedule me at like four o'clock in the morning knowing that this was like my prime time i was probably 21 going out drinking i would blow up an air mattress in the stock room and i would hide it in places and my manager knew and he would let me go and take naps throughout the morning and then he would come and wake me up when it was time to open the store that's a good

00:49:22 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 1:

manager manager that's a person you want to work for what a great store that you could fall asleep in that they have the the devices that you could go on like i often thought that that would be a you know a great place to work or dicks i used to love going to the the big dicks uh over on novi you can go sleep on the second level of the big dicks there in a canoe

00:49:45 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 2:

go take a sleep with the big dicks yeah exactly uh thank you for the call sarah we appreciate it

00:49:54 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

kevin did you find that to be kind of funny too uh was that it was that a good one kevin hold on a second I don't.

00:50:00 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my mic's not in her. There you go. Thank you, Kevin. We have Kevin's out, so we have, in honor of Kevin being out, Misfit Victor thought it would be funny just to have a little close-up. Kevin, do you like big dicks? All right. Missed opportunity to get him to say. Kevin, do you have big dicks? Yeah. Or you like big dicks? Yeah, there we go. Yeah. There you go. Hold on a second. Erica wants to say something. Erica, Erica wants to say something to Shannon that says here. What's up, Erica?

00:50:33 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I just wanted to say, first of all, first time caller, long time listener. Definitely, definitely.

00:50:40 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 8:

What's going on?

00:50:42 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but Shannon, I did cringe when you said that. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, don't do that, girl. Do not do that. Well, trust me. I won't again. I called to agree with the last caller. That was dry snitching. That was terrible.

00:50:58 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 8:

I've never heard of dry snitching before, but this is actually great. What? Yeah.

00:51:02 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 5:

That's like telling on somebody. That's like telling on somebody. Everybody knows what dry snitching is.

00:51:08 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Now I'm going to start using that. That's going to be coming out of my vocabulary.

00:51:13 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 5:

Mojo, also, I love your personality. You are so awesome. I love you.

00:51:17 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 8:

I love you, too. Hold on. I've got all my drops in weird places, too.

00:51:20 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 5:

I love you, too.

00:51:21 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 8:

There you go. I love you, Erica. Thank you.

00:51:24 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Bye.

00:51:25 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. Can I grab Sean real quick? Yeah. Sean fell asleep on the job and listened to what he did. Sean, tell everybody what you did and what you fell asleep on.

00:51:34 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo and Shannon. Good morning. Basically, I was operating an overhead crane, and it was the last, like, half hour of the day, and I was in a steel plant trying to fight sleep, fell asleep. Manager brought my brother-in-law over to verify that I was sleeping and then waited

00:51:54 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 7:

until i woke up and then fired oh god yeah i mean wait a second you fell asleep operating a crane

00:52:02 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 4:

i was actually up in the crane that is terrifying that would be i wasn't moving it was it was just so hot and i just started working third and it got so hot i just passed smooth out didn't even realize it until i hit a phone call on the Phone in the crane saying, yeah, you need to come down. You're fired.

00:52:24 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 8:

And was your brother-in-law snitching on you? That's a dry snitcher if I've ever seen a dry snitcher.

00:52:29 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no, no. No, my brother-in-law, the manager brought my brother-in-law over for visual proof that I was sleeping.

00:52:37 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I thought the brother-in-law was actually snitching on you, but the brother-in-law was there as proof. Unbelievable. Hold on. One more. Keisha, are you there, Keisha?

00:52:45 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 6:

I am.

00:52:47 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 8:

Keisha had a co-worker that thought that they were going to get fired. So what did they do when they were sleeping on the job?

00:52:54 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 6:

She faked a heart attack. Oh, my God. That's genius.

00:53:00 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 8:

That's fantastic.

00:53:01 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. How good was her acting?

00:53:04 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 6:

It looked very bad. She was a notorious liar. She was a liar. She was a thief. And my supervisor just walked over to the phone and said, oh, no, would you like for me to call an ambulance? And she says, oh, no, no. I'll just go home and my husband will take me to the hospital.

00:53:22 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 8:

That's stupid. She should have had the ambulance. I would have gone all aboard on that one, man. That was dumb on her part, right?

00:53:31 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. And, guys, I've been waiting my entire life to say first time. Hey!

00:53:35 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 8:

00:55:46 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon and I are holding down the fort while Kevin is off these last couple of mornings. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:55:53 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, Taylor Swift just dropped a sneak peek for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. And fans spotted a possible wedding hint with Travis Kelsey, maybe? I'll hand them in the video to tease her appearance on today's New Heights podcast, which drops at 7 p.m., by the way. And on the iHeartRadio app, the New Heights podcast. Yes. There's a book on the shelf about Casa Wabi, which is this very dreamy, exclusive, artsy retreat in Mexico. that is basically a hidden paradise it's like right on the ocean it also doubles as a super exclusive wedding venue so could this be a clue that a taylor travis wedding is happening maybe swifty think so we talked earlier in the week about the very nostalgic on uh on stage reunion of joe jonas and demi lovato she was actually talking about that yesterday they just

00:56:50 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 2:

You know, thanked me profusely for flying across the country to perform with them. And it was just so thoughtful. I felt so appreciated. And it was really healing for us. And I loved it. You know, every second of it was so great.

00:57:05 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, now all signs are pointing to a big announcement, Camp Rock fans. Joe may have accidentally, or it pretended to be an accident, confirmed a third Camp Rock movie during a Hot Ones challenge.

00:57:20 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 5:

Okay. That's a question for Joe. I took a big bite. As a songwriter, there is a constant need to document your innermost thoughts and feelings. Read your last notes app entry out loud. Uh-oh. Read Camp Rock 3. Okay. Pretty good. That's a pretty good one. It's the truth. It's literally right here.

00:57:45 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 3:

There's a script. If it happens, I don't know, but there is a script.

00:57:49 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up, guys? It's Joe Jonas waking up with Mojo in the morning. I love that.

00:57:53 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 3:

There are certain celebrities that are so famous that regardless of where they are in the world, they get recognized. Don't you think? George Clooney, probably one of them. You would think that Leo DiCaprio would be another one. Well, not the case at this exclusive tequila party he was attending in Ibiza earlier this week. He was stopped and searched by Spanish police on his way into the party. they did not recognize him initially still funny a video of this going down is going around the internet right now do you have a hat on or something or new classes no i mean it shows him patiently waiting and holding out his belongings during this routine security check before going into the party all of the guests had to do it so it wasn't like he was singled out or anything but they did pull him aside and do like this whole additional check once they recognized him the security officers did a double take and they finally let him into the party but they gave

00:58:47 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 4:

him a real hard time for a minute in defense of these uh Ibiza guys uh that are there I don't know if I've seen Leonardo DiCaprio lately you know in anything I mean I've seen movies and stuff but if he was like wearing like a baseball hat and sunglasses which he normally is yeah like I

00:59:04 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

probably wouldn't recognize the guy well and somebody that I talked to about this said everybody no matter who you were regular person or celebrity everybody had the same screening

00:59:15 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 4:

process there was no special treatment given so i actually saw that uh in it wasn't that long ago in town here john goodman the actor you know the guy that was on roseanne and stuff like that and he's been in a whole bunch of uh other shows since then uh i saw john goodman didn't recognize him he lost so much weight oh yeah he's real skinny now he is like really like tall skinny guy and um if i You know, if I saw him, you know, back in the day, I probably would have recognized him when he had more weight on him. Yeah, yeah.

00:59:43 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:00:40 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Says here, Claire is from Sterling Heights, that you would like to go to Florida and possibly take your mom on a little vacation?

01:00:49 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yes, oh, yeah. Okay, first time's a long time. Hey! Stop it. Are you serious? Hold on a second.

01:00:54 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 2:

God, why? Lydia, give me a forewarning on these things. I got Kev over here to do this one. Hold on a second. Ready? First time, long time. There you go. Claire, congratulations. You're a winner.

01:01:07 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I'm literally crying right now. I'm just kidding.

01:01:11 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 2:

This is so sweet. Claire, tell everybody what your mom does for a living.

01:01:16 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 4:

She's a teacher, so I just wanted to take her, like, on a trip.

01:01:19 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 2:

Aw, that is, like, so sweet. That is unbelievable. What a great thing. When does mom start school? When does school go back for her?

01:01:28 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 4:

I think it's like after Labor Day.

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good for her. Where does she teach? What school?

01:01:34 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 4:

Roseville. She teaches at Fatwin Elementary.

01:01:37 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. And Claire, how old are you?

01:01:39 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 4:

I'm 21.

01:01:40 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 2:

What are you doing with your life?

01:01:43 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I'm on my way to work. Oh, that's cool. What do you do? I'm in college. Okay. I'm a supply chain co-op.

01:01:50 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Good for you. Where do you go in school?

01:01:53 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 4:

U of M Dearborn.

01:01:54 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 2:

Good for you. Go Blue. Congratulations to you. Hang on the phone for just one second.

01:01:59 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 4:

We're going to get your information. Thank you so much.

01:02:01 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

I love you guys. We love you too. We appreciate you so much. We're going to give you $50. So you got $50. Spend that on yourself because you deserve it. And then if you win the trip, you'll win a trip to Clearwater, Florida. Shepard's going to be a great place to stay. You'll have an opportunity to go on what will be a cool dinner cruise. You'll also get some passes and some fun to go see dolphins. And then we'll also give you some dinner and drinks and things like that when you go there. Clearwater is one of the most gorgeous places ever. Voted number one beach in the world, the Clearwater Beach. And you and your mom could be going. Congratulations.

01:02:41 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Thank you so much.

01:02:43 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 2:

It's all brought to you by Visit Florida. All right. It is Mojo in the morning show. Bianca came in the studio here because she wants to call out Lydia for something. She says that she doesn't like how Lydia has her titled in Lydia's phone. First off, how do you know how Lydia titles you in her phone?

01:03:03 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 5:

Because when we were driving the other day, I saw my contact show up in her phone, and it says, Bianca Iheart. And I'm like, you've got to be kidding me. We've been friends for like two years now, and we hang out outside of work. So my name should not be Bianca Iheart in your phone. That's actually embarrassing. Does it really bother you that much? Yeah, because I'm not just an iHeart employee to her. I'm her friend.

01:03:25 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 2:

Actually, I think that you're kind of family to her, aren't you?

01:03:28 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I'm sorry. I know your name in her phone is not Mojo iHeart.

01:03:32 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. What is it? What is it? Do we know?

01:03:34 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 5:

Lydia, what is it?

01:03:35 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 2:

What am I listed as in the phone? I think she's grabbing information from a listener.

01:03:39 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 6:

Okay, well, it's just Mojo.

01:03:41 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 2:

Am I a king Mojo?

01:03:42 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 6:

No, just Mojo.

01:03:44 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 2:

I am.

01:03:44 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 6:

Like my contact for Tony now. Is it fair, Bianca? I hired you and I wasn't going to be putting you in my phone as bestie Bianca BFF. Well, now it should be.

01:03:54 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 5:

No. It could be a little sis Bianca. I just don't like that it's Bianca I heart. I think that's.

01:03:58 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to see something funny?

01:04:00 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 5:

A little boring.

01:04:01 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 2:

Look what, look what I have in my phone. You ready for this? Okay. I will show this to you. Hold on a second. What do I have Lydia listed as? People can see your phone number probably.

01:04:12 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 5:

It's a Lydia Jarjosa Jarjosa promo.

01:04:14 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

up until like a few weeks ago mine still said Lydia Promotions because she used to work in our promotions department

01:04:22 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to cover up Lydia's phone number so that they can see that in there, that's Lydia's

01:04:25 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 5:

turn your brightness down, it's too bright put my brightness down

01:04:28 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

wait, I'm blind, why are you making fun of me

01:04:32 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 5:

because the camera can't pick it up

01:04:33 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 2:

okay, can they pick that up at all?

01:04:35 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 5:

yep, they can, it's Lydia Jarjo said Jarjo so why does she have two last names?

01:04:39 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't know

01:04:39 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 3:

that's how you come across on my phone, you updated your contact mojo and now you're Mojo Tom, Mojo, Mojo. Is that what it is? Yeah. Or wait, what are you? I think it's something like that. Yeah, Mojo Tom, Mojo, Mojo, Mojo.

01:04:52 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Here, hold on. I'm dialing your phone. What does it show? Look at that. By the way, look how hot I am in mine. Oh, yeah. Do you see mine? Mine's pretty good, too.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 4:

Maxie right there, baby.

01:05:02 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 2:

But here's the thing. I think once you get to a certain relationship or a certain bond with somebody, you can take off how you know them. Like I wouldn't keep someone like I used to have Zach Mojo because that's the only way I knew him. But now it's just Zach. Who changes names in their phones anymore? Like shouldn't it just be what it is and call it a day?

01:05:19 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 4:

I only do it if and I only will change it is if in your text that you send me, if you send me a text and it says update, like I can update. your contact and stuff by just clicking it and yeah i click it that's the fine thing to do you know i don't do that actually my problem is i can't have like i can't have shannon in my phone and by the way i have shannon in my phone as shannon murphy because that's how i had her prior to her being married yeah and hold on a second if kev was here yeah she's been married

01:05:47 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 1:

like 20 times so that actually it's so funny you say that shannon murphy's fine like that's

01:05:52 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 4:

obviously the name i acknowledge that kevin would have said a joke he would have he would have

01:05:56 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 1:

I don't like it. So I had a girlfriend in town over the weekend, and she was airdropping me some stuff. And I noticed that on her phone, I'm still listed as my last name from my first marriage. And I was like, Julie, update that.

01:06:14 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 4:

That's weird. You need to do your update on your iPhone then. You need to do it. I did.

01:06:20 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 1:

I did. But maybe she didn't accept it.

01:06:23 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they probably chose not to do it.

01:06:25 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 1:

Am I? Did I do it? Usually, well, if you text me. Oh, no, mine says Shannon Murphy, and then in parentheses it says Whitlam, like my, that's my legal last name. Because I have this, and it doesn't give me an update for you. Oh, see, look at it. I must not, you must not have clicked. Huh. Or maybe I didn't. You probably just said no about it. Do I have to send that out?

01:06:39 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 4:

Send me, I don't know. I think you, no, I think it automatically will come on the iPhone, but. Oh. All right, so, so real quick, I wanted to talk about the Bianca thing with Lydia. You think that Lydia is not showing you respect because she's only referring to you as.

01:06:56 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Bianca, I heart.

01:06:57 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:06:57 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Like, does that mean that if I didn't work here anymore, if she didn't work here anymore, like we're not friends because I'm only an I heart contact to her?

01:07:05 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

01:07:06 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 2:

Wah, wah, wah. Like, it should be Batty B. It should be. Oh, please. Little sis.

01:07:11 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 4:

Look what I have. I have you in my phone with.

01:07:14 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, see, I told you mine looks good.

01:07:15 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 4:

I got you. Mine looks good. And it's your picture from your real estate.

01:07:21 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Actually, my contact for you, Mojo, is Mojo slash Tom. I don't know why it's like that.

01:07:26 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, because I think I put that in my thing.

01:07:28 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

01:07:28 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Because some people know me as Mojo, and then some people know me by my real name, Tom.

01:07:32 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 2:

Yep, and I do have your picture, too.

01:07:34 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. How do you put numbers in your phone? And what do you have, like, your mom as? Like, what's your mom's number in your phone?

01:07:46 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 2:

You know something, too? So when it says, like, a company or, like, someone's last name, I don't even do the last name or I don't do the company. I just do everything in the first name. That's what I do, too. I don't ever do company or last name. I think that's stupid.

01:07:58 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

I do that for my kids' friends' parents, too. Because sometimes, like, I'll have in there, like, Tom-Luke's dad. So I know who it is or else I don't know who you are.

01:08:09 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever put it in there as redhead Luke? Like, because I have that. So Luke went to school with two Jacks, so it was Jack B and Jack A, and so I would put, so Vince was a dad of Jack A, so I would put Vince, and his last name was Anderson, but I put Vince, Jack A's dad, Jack A Blonde. yeah this is what early on before vince anderson and then todd bartis who is jack b's uh dad yeah

01:08:44 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 1:

i do sometimes put that in the notes of like brother's name is yeah jacob mom's name is chelsea just so that i know or else i feel like a dummy well i also do that with people's kids

01:08:55 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 4:

i always put people's kids names in there too because i used to it used to be a thing where i'd go how's the daughter and you sound like how's the girl you don't even care what's going

01:09:05 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 3:

on lisa what's up my daughter sarah has her sister rachel listed as satan and then the ringtone is the music from the halloween movie oh that's funny maybe they don't

01:09:24 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 4:

like each other and do we believe that your daughter is satan or how do we think well yeah

01:09:32 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 3:

I have her listed in my phone as the Kraken.

01:09:37 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Your own kids, huh?

01:09:39 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 3:

Because we don't want to mess with the Kraken. That's great.

01:09:44 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Thanks for the call. I appreciate you, Lisa.

01:09:46 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day, guys.

01:09:48 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate you. Erica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:09:51 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. My best friend of 15 years still has me as Erica NMU because we connected after.

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 6:

01:10:06 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

01:10:11 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 6:

01:10:18 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 2:

to nmu do you choose to go there or is that either a you got money or b that was the only place that

01:10:26 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 6:

you got accepted like how like that it seems like you chose to go there yeah yeah i love and i love

01:10:32 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 2:

the up yeah oh it's gorgeous but i know but it's like man if i'm a kid going to college right now i'm going to like alabama i'm giving myself some green i'm going to alabama still um even over the spartans okay go white what's what's happening dalton how you doing good how are you guys

01:10:48 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 4:

fantastic what do you have in the phone i normally put like a little asterisk after their name and then put like how i know them like even my sister's boyfriend freaking it's madison and then

01:10:59 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

her boyfriend yeah that's so smart do we when you meet girls or guys if you're dating do you put them in there and put like where you guys did it the first time or where you guys like the bar you

01:11:11 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 5:

met or something like like i actually have that i did that too like bobby bar louis or something

01:11:18 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 4:

like that coyote joe's i go to music festivals and i'll be like oh i met them at electric forest

01:11:23 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

okay yeah i can see where you do that uh initial a wants to be voice disguised what's up a

01:11:30 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 1:

hi good morning good morning so i kind of have a problem with doing this because i own a cleaning company yeah and i get tons of clients and when i have to like store them in my phone and i don't know them yet i like put the weirdest things like nasty nancy or like very old lady betty and then it's like when i really get to know them after years and it's like it becomes a habit of calling them that yeah and i like almost say it to them and it i i have to change it you

01:12:11 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 2:

got to be careful when you're cleaning nasty nancy's house that she doesn't butt dial you

01:12:15 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 1:

and that phone name comes up on there oh my gosh that would be so terrible yeah that would be a

01:12:21 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 2:

really bad one lily what's up uh lily it's mojo in the morning how you doing hi good morning good morning what's happening we're talking about how you put people in your phone so when my i met my

01:12:34 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 6:

husband for the first day that i met him um i didn't catch his last name and he had bought me a coffee um at like dunkin donuts he brought me a coffee he walked me to class in college um but i didn't catch his last name i got his number but i didn't know his last name so i just put in like zach bought me coffee and that has been his name in my phone for like i love that

01:13:02 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

i would never change that that is so cute yeah that's that's really good and uh i like that i I like how people, by the way, will do this with dates. Bob's got a funny one. Bob, you there?

01:13:14 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 3:

Yes, sir. We're doing like digital wedding invites, and you invite people via your phone. And Nana called me and said, I'm looking through some of these people we've invited in. Who is Benny Benson Whiskey Dick? That's who he is in my phone. Now, whiskey means Wisconsin, and Dick is only because he's a funny, outgoing guy. He's a nice guy, but it doesn't matter. It could be CEO of the plug. It doesn't matter what it is, but whatever you save them on your phone is is what the wedding invite says.

01:13:53 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 2:

That's classic. Oh, my God. I would just want to hear your grandma say whiskey, Dick. Pam, hi. Good morning. Hi. What's going on? we're talking about how bianca and lydia have each other in their phones but you have a funny

01:14:07 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 5:

one for us oh yeah so my very best friend was you know we were single in our 20s and she's dating a lot of guys and some of them like three of them had the same name dave so she had to differentiate them so one of them was boat dave because he had a boat yeah um one of them was harry back dave because we had a very back one was big d dave because we had a big d big d dave is a great name so that is how she had to remember all of the guys oh my god we need to

01:14:48 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 2:

talk to big d dave i want to know if you're big d dave right now you're driving around i would

01:14:55 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 6:

want to talk to all three daves and be like if you had to guess what is the description

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 2:

about you is part of your name in her phone.

01:15:03 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 1:

01:17:08 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be so good.

01:17:09 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 1:

And we got a huge thank you to Steve Gabara over at Zot Ford in Holly and Todd Zot and everybody over there. at Zot4. We love you guys so much. They're just off of 75. They have a, I drove Kevin to go pick up his Mustang the other day. I don't know how the hell they do business. When they shut down 75, you can get off. Actually, this is kind of maybe Steve's ploy of trying to get you to buy cars from him. You can get off on 75 to get onto there or for Holly Road there. You can't get back on. So this is their way of, you know, back in the day, car sales guys, my father-in-law is a car salesman. he used to tell me there was car guys that would take your car when they were going to do a say like a okay we're going to tell you how much money your car is for a trade-in car sales guys would go hey see your keys and they would throw them on the roof of the building so that are you kidding me yeah they would do that to keep you there so that you would say i want the new car like that was their ploy back in the day they didn't do this at zot but my father-in-law used to tell me about the shady car sales people that do it steve gabara might have some shadiness going on with MDOT, because you cannot find an entrance to get on the freeway over there, because they have that whole 75 construction thing going on over there in Holly and Clarkson and stuff, so I feel like every road in Michigan is right now under construction.

01:18:32 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 2:

It is so bad. The road that I normally take, that I normally get out of my neighborhood to come to work is under construction right now, and it's been under construction for about a month and a half so i have to go like all a different way out of my neighborhood and then all the way around to kind of get back on track and it sounds so dumb it adds like an extra five minutes an extra five minutes at four in the morning is a lot it's so stupid it throws me off every day that i just you know i'm mindless and i get in my car and back out and go that way and then i'm like

01:19:04 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 1:

dang it yeah i have to go all the way around i don't know people like i've so i there's a couple people that live off of there's a street by my house called Pontiac Trail yeah and I see these people that live in these homes and they're really nice homes along Pontiac Trail there and the road has so at four o'clock in the afternoon five o'clock in the afternoon there is no joke five or six you know it looks like miles of of cars that are waiting to get up towards Orchard Lake Road yeah how do you pull in and out of your driveway I always wonder that on those roads with those houses to me i couldn't live in those places and speaking of yucky traffic

01:19:42 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 2:

or bad traffic remember dream cruises this weekend if you live in the detroit area so if you're in you know royal oak ferndale berkeley birmingham like those areas right there yeah i mean that stretch is gonna be remember it's you're gonna have to like go around basically because it's You can't drive in the Dream Cruise or it'll take you two hours to get anywhere.

01:20:04 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 1:

I love Detroit. I love living here. I love that this has been our home and where we've raised our kids and stuff. I don't get Dream Cruise. I've never got it. To me, and I love cars. Hey, listen, classic cars are great. I think you should have them out all summer long, not just on one weekend. I think it's a great thing to have. I never got the idea of driving up and down three lanes of traffic in your classic car with a FedEx truck and an Amazon truck driving next to you doing their deliveries. Like, it would be cool if they did, like, Saturday for three hours, they closed the road down, and the only thing you saw, like, a parade, was those cars.

01:20:44 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:20:44 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 1:

But when all day long people are driving up and down the street, and I know that it brings business and stuff. I get it. Or some businesses hate it probably, right?

01:20:55 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because it's very hard to access a lot of those businesses.

01:20:59 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 1:

It kind of like makes me always wonder when I see these, you know, these cars during up and down. I'm like, why did they never in all the years of Dream Cruise just shut the freaking road down for like two or three or five hours? I don't care. Yeah. Shut it down in a period of place and let those classic cool cars drive without having some guy in a freaking Pacifica driving next to you.

01:21:25 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

It really is that.

01:21:26 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 1:

It's stupid. It's the dumbest. I never got it. Can somebody please explain that to me? Like, why has that never been the case? Is it because Beaumont or Corwell or whatever, the hospital, is down the street? I don't know.

01:21:37 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 2:

I think it would just be such a headache and hassle. They shut down the road for that Thanksgiving parade.

01:21:44 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 1:

You know, they shut the Woodward for the parade down every year.

01:21:47 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. At Thanksgiving. I don't know. I don't know the answer.

01:21:50 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 1:

Like, have a parade of cars. Do I have to think this stuff through? Like, do I have to be the person that has to be the guy going, hey, maybe we do one year and try it out and see what's going on. I've always wanted to ask that question. Maybe it's because our station doesn't do the promo. And I know that it's kind of like the oldie station does it. Yeah. And Channel 7 does it and stuff. But, man, I would be campaigning for that all the time.

01:22:14 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 2:

They've been out all week at night already.

01:22:17 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy. We're supposed to go to dinner. Chelsea and I are taking Luke on his goodbye going away to college dinner to Luke's favorite restaurant. It's a place called Phoenicia, which is just amazing food. And we're going there tonight. I'm like, oh, I got to fight the Woodward Dream Cruise people. What's up, Sam? How you doing?

01:22:37 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I heard you mention about Pontiac Trail.

01:22:41 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I drive that road every day to and from work. What's happening?

01:22:47 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I go down Pontiac Trail sometimes, and you're absolutely right. And about ever since, like, 4 to 6 at Orchard Lake, that one turn turning left, you'll get five cars, and like you said, you're stuck there for so long. And the people that live on those nice houses must be so upset.

01:23:11 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 1:

I one time, this is no joke, it should take me 25 minutes to get from my house to Southfield, okay? One time I put it in Waze, and this is no joke, it said it was going to be an hour and five minutes because the traffic was so bad. I'm like, an hour and five minutes? It's not even that far. Like, I want a helicopter. It's so bad. but hey no it's all because of that one intersection yeah it's crazy you do something about it yeah it's crazy thanks sam i appreciate your call what's going on nicole it's mojo in

01:23:45 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 3:

the morning how are you hey how are you good what's up dream cruise is the walmart of parade it kind of is it kind of is it brings out all those people well just love to sit there all day

01:24:02 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 1:

They love it. They sit there in their folding chairs on the side of the road, but they enjoy it. That's something fun. Do you think, is it generational? Like, will we see, I can't see 25-year-olds right now doing, like, Lydia and Bianca are never going to be when they're 30s and 40s with a folding chair at the dry cleaners on Woodward. You know what I mean? It's not going to happen. You know what I mean? Exactly. I totally agree. I hate to say it, but I think that there are some traditions that may die.

01:24:33 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 2:

They do have different areas where all of the Corvette owners from all of the past decades get together. They should do that. And I like those areas. They also, and I noticed this last year, they have all of the dispensaries out.

01:24:50 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:24:50 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 2:

So if you walk Woodward now, you smell oil, gas, and weed.

01:25:00 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 1:

They're all out and they all, and that's where I say there may be a generational crossover because a lot of these cannabis companies will have like tent parties for the dream crews to, you know, let people hang.

01:25:14 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 5:

By the way, is that a big, uh, is that a big thing that they're sponsoring all of the, uh, I don't know.

01:25:20 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 1:

I just remember last year, Wes and the kids and I went and ate at one of the restaurants on Woodward and our waitress disappeared. And when she finally came back, I saw her walking over from one of those tents. She went to buy whatever.

01:25:31 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 5:

Really?

01:25:31 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 1:

A pen or weed.

01:25:33 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 5:

The smell of mobile oil.

01:25:35 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 1:

It was.

01:25:36 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 5:

And weed is pure Michigan. What's going on? How you doing, Ricardo?

01:25:43 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 4:

Hey, hey, Mojo. What's happening? What's happening?

01:25:46 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 5:

Wait, hold on, hold on. Ricardo, don't do this to me. Hold on a second. I got to get Kevin here because Kevin's off this week.

01:25:52 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 4:

Don't worry.

01:25:52 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 5:

So we got bot Kevin with us. Ricardo.

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Thank you.

01:25:57 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

01:25:59 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, there's this thing called Cruising Heinz. It's exactly what you were describing. Classic cars, no regular cars allowed.

01:26:05 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 5:

On Heinz Drive?

01:26:06 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 3:

And extends to Dearborn.

01:26:08 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 4:

Cruising Heinz. It's on Heinz Park. That's okay. Happens the very next weekend following the Woodward Cruise.

01:26:13 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 5:

All right. See, I like that. I like the idea of closing everything down. I think that's a smart move if they do that.

01:26:19 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 4:

Only if you're going to have to walk a bit if you want to check everything out.

01:26:23 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. The problem is now I just got everybody that listens to us that lives in Royal Oak or Ferndale pissed at me because I'm telling them they shut down their biggest road. What's up, Gil? How you doing?

01:26:34 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 7:

Morning, Mojo. Morning, everybody. Good morning. I'm calling it the fifth of the Dream Cruise. See, you go to a regular car show, they're sitting there. You know, it's like a museum. But the Dream Cruise is alive. The cars are running. Yeah. And burnouts. You know, it's really for people that are in the cars. I like to see them in motion. and like the moving and hear the roar of the engines. But there are also a lot of things for you to do if you walk up and down. Last year, Ford Mustang had a thing where you could actually get in the car and do burnouts in a little section and everything. So it's more than just that. It's really cool.

01:27:12 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 5:

But don't you think we should shut the road down and make the delivery truck guys go to another road? Or do people really need their Amazon delivery on Saturday?

01:27:23 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 7:

I mean, yes. Makeaway, but, you know, it didn't used to be that way. It used to be all classic cars out there, and as times got on, more and more people are just driving their regular cars. So, yeah, I mean, you know, yeah, shut down, you know, three miles was well for a couple hours. I'm with that. But, listen, go there, have fun. You'll love it. There are events and activities. And go up to Pontiac. They got stuff in Pontiac with live music, entertainment. So the whole stretch of woodwork for this weekend is fun.

01:27:56 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 5:

I don't mean to be a hater, but I don't know. And I love cars, man. To me, if I could have a classic old Bronco or Camaro, it would be unbelievable.

01:28:05 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those Broncos now? Have you seen the price of refurbished vintage Broncos?

01:28:10 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 5:

Ryan Kessler has one. It's amazing. He's told Chelsea that she could drive it anytime she wants to. I told Chelsea, be careful in that thing. because those things, those cars, man, those back Broncos are the best. What's up, Annie? Hi.

01:28:25 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning, guys.

01:28:27 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

01:28:27 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:28:28 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

01:28:29 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 2:

So I am 21 years old, and the Woodward Dream Cruise is my absolute favorite holiday weekend of the year. My family is going up to K-Still this weekend for Cheeseburger Fest, and I am actually staying home to go all the days to Woodward. Really?

01:28:47 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 5:

All right, so here's the thing. I take back what I said. It's going to be going on forever. It's a tradition that we need to keep going. You're how old? 21, you said? Okay. So you're 21. All right. I take it back. I just sit there and I think to myself that there's ways that they could maybe. Make it better. Yeah. Make it better. Like back in COVID days, did they virtual? Can I watch? I can't remember what they did that year.

01:29:10 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 1:

I don't think we did it.

01:29:10 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 5:

I actually watch it on Channel 7. It's funny. Channel 7 does the broadcast.

01:29:15 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 1:

I do love what Channel 7 does. And, you know, Alicia and the crew, they all dress up in the like the 50s dresses and do their hair. I think that's kind of cute.

01:29:24 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 5:

What do they call those skirts? It's like dogs, like poodle skirts, poodle skirts. Yeah. All right, Annie, we'll see you out there this weekend. OK, look for me out there.

01:29:32 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 1:

You're not going to find him because he ain't going.

01:29:35 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 5:

I'll be there.

01:29:36 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 6:

One and done on the dating. Why no second date? Second date update happens at 820. I'm Mojo in the morning.

01:29:43 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 5:

All right. It is Mojo in the morning. did you ever get invited to something but you don't know if other people got invited to the same thing and so you feel like you can't even talk about being invited to something has that ever happened to you yes so and listen there are times I know where I'm not invited to thing.

01:30:00 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 1:

but I'm not the type of person that gets really kind of butthurt over it. Sometimes I actually look at it as a win when I'm not invited because to be quite honest with you, I don't want to go to everything, right? Like I like to be able to have my free time.

01:30:13 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:30:14 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

Especially with waking up at such an early hour. But I'm so excited that I got invited to this thing on Friday. So Friday I got invited with a group of guys. It's a big group of guys because I'm in this text thread to go see comedian Shane Gillis.

01:30:27 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:30:27 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 1:

Shane Gillis is in town on Friday. and there is a group of guys and i'm telling you it's like here if i show you the shane gillis group you'll see the uh how many are in here it's amazing how many people are going to look look at the shane gillis group look how many oh yeah i mean i don't know how many if you can count

01:30:46 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

those are the group chats by the way that i hate being in this is like there's so many people well

01:30:50 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

here's my problem with this i have probably on here i probably have 30 of the guys numbers saved in my phone. And the 70% that I don't have saved in my phone, I have no idea whose numbers these are. So these text messages are coming through to me of people talking about Shane Gillis on Friday and we're going to go eat beforehand. And they're doing all this stuff like, hey, we're all going to pick you up. We're going to get picked up by a party boss. It's crazy. This is actually a big deal. It was put together by a couple of guys that invited me. I was really excited that they invited me because i love shane gillis but honestly more so than shane gillis i love these guys that are that that invited me long story short with this i don't know who to talk to and who not to talk to that are friends of mine and i feel like when i when i go on friday i'm gonna go oh so you were invited because i you know i mean like or or some people like that i

01:31:46 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 2:

don't not everybody in that group chat is going so no that's not the shane gillis group chat here's

01:31:51 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 1:

the deal see here are the people i know that are going to be there right now i can see all right So you can see names, but there's a bunch of them ones that I don't have a clue who they are because I don't have their numbers saved in my phone. So I don't know who to talk to that I don't have saved in my phone and say, Hey, I'll see you Friday. So yesterday, uh, this guy, Bob, who's a really good guy. He actually is a sales guy at, uh, at a 97 one. He, um, a sales manager, he's, he texts me and goes, Hey, are you going Friday to Shane Gillis? and I wanted to text him back when he texted me and say, no, should I be just because I wanted to mess with him?

01:32:29 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

You don't know if he's asking, but also is he asking because he's going or is he asking because he's not going, but he heard that a bunch of guys are going.

01:32:35 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing. I don't know.

01:32:37 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 2:

And he wants to know who is and who isn't.

01:32:38 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, luckily he is going. I said, yes, I'm going. So he is going. Yeah. Okay. I know this makes no sense to you. No, it does. But has this ever happened? So I wanted to ask the listeners a question. I wanted to ask you a question too, Shannon, because I know you get invited to a lot of stuff, but you may also not get invited to some stuff.

01:32:56 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:32:56 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 1:

What do you do? And have you ever not been invited to something that everybody else was invited to? And what did you do? Like, did you get really hurt by it? Or did you say anything? And if you have been invited and you know that there are friends of yours that weren't invited, did you have to hide it? Like, can I not post pictures that I'm at Shane Gillis?

01:33:14 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 2:

That is the worst is when you know that there are going to be people who have hurt feelings, that they were not part of the group going to a concert or out to dinner or on a trip or whatever. And you're like, well, now I feel kind of weird posting photos. And also with the group chats, and I don't know, this is why I asked you, I notice in some of these situations for me, then we will leave the group chat and all of the people who are going to something form another group chat.

01:33:42 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:33:43 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 2:

And then I get nervous that I'm going to post in the wrong group chat.

01:33:47 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Yes. and people it's like here's my problem this is this is my problem with this this is kind of sounds really bad to say this but um I'm also wondering if some of the people that I don't have their number saves are people that I like so what if I go and I go and there's a person there that I don't like you know what I mean and I'm there going oh so who invited that guy you know what i mean like yeah like you sit there and go which is very rare because i pretty much like everybody except for a couple but there's you know what i mean like you kind of go through that whole thing where you don't you have no idea how to react to the deal i wish somebody would say here's the roll call of everybody why don't you just ask your friend bob who started that group chat who are these numbers right here bob's the new he's a newly invite oh so bob's a newly invite it would be honestly so amar and uh john tallenger were the ones that initially said something to me

01:34:42 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:34:42 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 1:

So I should ask those guys. But what, Amanda, are you there, Amanda?

01:34:46 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, everyone. How are you? Good morning.

01:34:48 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 1:

Hey, we're doing good. We're talking about this thing. I'm going to see Shane Gillis on Friday. I'm very excited about that.

01:34:54 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Me too. I texted in to Lydia saying that, well, to the show, saying that I was going to.

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 3:

too i got tickets i got tickets to surprise my boyfriend well because it's his favorite comedian um we broke up three weeks ago so i'm taking my best friend instead i love it i love it so is it

01:35:12 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 1:

best girl girlfriend yes you better you better come up and say hi if you see me there i want to

01:35:18 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 3:

i want to say hi to you guys all right i would love to see you and meet you for once that would

01:35:22 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 1:

be so much fun yeah that would be fun although it'd be kind of weird because i don't want these guys thinking i invited two girls to come with me this shane gillis that would be weird because it's a bunch of guys leaving wives at home so they'll never know they'll never know that's all i need that's all i need i'll be on the tf twice we're good all right well hey we're excited for shane gillis on friday we're good with this so excited i'll see you there y'all have a great day

01:35:49 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 3:

All right, we'll see you.

01:35:50 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 1:

It's funny. The group text of threads of this, I wonder if, do we kill it on Friday, after Friday? Like, how does that work? What's the etiquette of that, too?

01:36:01 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean? You just let that group text fade out?

01:36:03 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

No, I know. But I think, though, the problem, though, is everybody in the group text, you know, you know from the Shane Gillis thing.

01:36:10 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:36:10 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 1:

Like, you started in a new group text, and it's post-Shane Gillis.

01:36:15 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. These group chats get, that's a lot. This is getting kind of confusing. Shannon's Dirty coming up in less than 30.

01:36:25 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show.

01:36:29 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:36:31 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 1:

Second date update. Why are you not getting a call? We're going to find out. We're going to see what's happening. I think we kind of have an idea of what's going on. Leo is getting ghosted. and his ghosting, he's worried, stems from the fact that he got into a car accident on the date. Leo, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Is everybody okay from the accident? Were you safe?

01:36:57 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, everybody's fine. Nobody's dead.

01:37:00 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that's kind of embarrassing, isn't it? What did you do? Did you rear end somebody or did you hit somebody?

01:37:07 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was just, you know, I gave someone a little love tap, I guess you could say.

01:37:11 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 1:

All right, and now you're not hearing from Julia, who you went on the date with, and you want to find out what's going on. Well, we got her on the phone. Julia, will you say hello to Leo?

01:37:21 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Hi.

01:37:27 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 1:

Boy, you have no energy, Julia. Are you doing okay? Are you everything okay?

01:37:33 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's just say there's a reason I ghosted him.

01:37:38 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 1:

Does it have to do with being in an accident?

01:37:41 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, of course you know about the accident, right? He mentioned it. Yes. Yeah, it really wasn't cute. Like, he was driving super fast. He was weaving in the lanes. And, yeah, I just, it wasn't cute.

01:37:57 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 1:

So he was being irresponsible the way that he was driving?

01:38:00 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, completely. Completely. I felt unsafe.

01:38:05 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, coming on now. Everything's fine. Like, don't act like it's such a big deal. Like, everything is fine. You're not dead. You're here on the radio. Like, calm down.

01:38:12 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, that's... Okay, but... That's kind of a douchey move. Yeah, it's like so kind of weird the way you're talking about it. Like, it's a car accident still.

01:38:22 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, hold up. First of all, it was in all my fault. Like, you know, she's kind of leaving out the little part where, you know, she gave me a little touchy-touch as I was driving. So, you know, I was a little distracted.

01:38:34 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

What is a touchy-touch?

01:38:37 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you know what a touchy-touch is. Come on now.

01:38:39 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 1:

She reached over and she was grabbing you or playing around with you at the time?

01:38:44 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I love that you're trying to make... I'll say that. It was a great date. Okay. I was going to say, I love that you're trying to make that sound like a problem right now.

01:38:52 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, but hold on one second. Julia, you were touching him while he was going and driving. You said weaving in and out of traffic.

01:39:01 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I think that that is such a...

01:39:05 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 2:

She was doing a little weaving herself, if you know what I mean. Oh, I was. Are you kidding me?

01:39:10 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 1:

By the way. I'd be ghosting him too. I mean, that's the ghosting part right there.

01:39:15 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 3:

This is just confirming to me exactly how immature you actually are because you obviously didn't care about my safety when I expressed that I was, like, feeling a little bit nervous about, like, you didn't see the look on my face.

01:39:26 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one second. I just want to stop for one second because I'm a little confused. So he was weaving in and out of traffic, you were saying.

01:39:35 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:39:36 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so he's driving recklessly. And at the time that he's driving recklessly, Leo, you say, was she, like, just goofing with you and pushing you and telling you to stop driving recklessly? Or was she actually, was she grabbing you and, like, trying to grab your junk? Yes.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, she was enjoying the day. She was enjoying.

01:40:00 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 7:

the ride as was i and it wasn't until after you know the little love tap happened and then yeah i will admit she freaked out from there you know i didn't blame her you know it was kind of scary but like overall like we obviously had a connection you know figuratively and literally so like i still you know i was open to fear again but yeah she just blown me off and you know

01:40:21 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 5:

you were tight wait so you were tight you were get were you giving him like a little like a like a handy while you were driving while he was driving definitely not i think he was

01:40:31 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 9:

misinterpreting what was happening i i obviously i did like him and i was like putting my hand on his side but i don't think that's in i don't think it was anything more it was than yeah i think he was misinterpreting it and i also think that when i was trying to like get his attention when he's

01:40:49 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 7:

driving recklessly like that's i think okay i'm a confident driver that wasn't recklessly like You're freaking out. It's okay, girl.

01:40:58 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be okay. I know, but if she told you she felt uncomfortable and unsafe and you kept doing it, that would bug me too.

01:41:04 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, second date update.

01:41:08 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. I think she's absolutely right to not go back out with him. He is. Oh, come on, Sarah. Obviously, he's embarrassed. Stop on talking. Thank you. Anyway, he's trying to embarrass her because he's embarrassed on the radio. telling her, oh, no, she liked it. And then, oh, she's giving me a handy. And she's clearly saying, no, I didn't. No, I didn't. Sir, no means no. She told you no, she doesn't like you. She told you no, she wasn't giving you a handy. And you're still trying to invalidate her. You're still trying to talk to her on the radio. We love you, Sarah.

01:41:42 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

You're still out, bro. Also, the guys who weave in and out of traffic, you're, I'm, like. It's not cute. It's not cute.

01:41:51 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

You're not being racer five here. Grow up. I'm trying to live.

01:41:53 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 5:

By the way, Sarah needs to be a misfit. What kind of a name can we give her? This is like, I love it. Sound off Sarah here on the phone. Man, make her a misfit. That's great. What's going on? How you doing, Eric?

01:42:06 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 8:

Hey, yeah, no, it sounds like, just as an outsider looking in, kind of sounds like Leo was trying to play the cool guy on the date, and it backfired, and he made it look like a douche.

01:42:17 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 1:

And who says touchy-touch?

01:42:19 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 8:

You ain't getting no touchy-touch. Get out of here. You're bad, dude. You're bad. Learn from it. Go by.

01:42:27 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 5:

Suzanne.

01:42:27 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I am bad. I'm bad to the bone, brother.

01:42:31 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 9:

Who is this guy? Lydia. You see why I ghosted him?

01:42:37 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 5:

Whoa. Double. Wait, hold on a second. No, that's the wrong one. It's ghost bad. There you go. That's the one I wanted. Suzanne, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Suzanne. Good morning.

01:42:47 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 4:

Suzanne. I know. Good morning. Oh, my word. You have to be acting You are acting like such a jerk You must be just making this all up Just to act like a bigger jerk No way that any mother Would ever let you date their daughter And this girl needs to run I know she's already made her up her mind But she is going to run And every woman is listening to this She's not yet She's not a grandmother yet

01:43:18 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 5:

I think he's talking to you, Suzanne You're good, you're good.

01:43:23 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 4:

I would never let you date her.

01:43:25 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 5:

You're good, you're good. Hold on a second. Kenny wants to say something. What's up, Kenny? It's Mojo in the Morning. Second date update.

01:43:32 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 6:

Morning, guys. So I got two things. Buddy, as a truck driver, if you F around, you'll find out it's not cute to drive like an a-hole, so don't do it. Second thing, I'm pretty sure she's not calling him back because she's got either David Tamaninio or Top Dog Law on retainer. probably gonna sue him

01:43:50 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 5:

there you go

01:43:51 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 6:

I like feminino better

01:43:55 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 5:

get David get paid what's going on Angela what's up it's Mojo in the morning hi

01:44:00 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 3:

hi so the same thing happened to me too I was on our first date and we were at this you were giving a man a touch or touch

01:44:06 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 5:

Leo shut up for a minute Angela what's up

01:44:12 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 3:

I know right be quiet or I'm gonna have to call you and you know take care of you

01:44:16 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 5:

what's up Angela You were going to take care of me.

01:44:20 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

So I, like, went on a first date with a guy. We met at a restaurant bar. He did the same thing. He pulled out, and he pulled out onto the road to get on the expressway, and he loved to have somebody. And then he took off. He went on the expressway. He's doing, like, 120, weaving in and out, getting on and off the expressway. And the next thing I know, we end up in Troy somewhere, and he did 120 going on this ramp, and we dove off, flipped over and nosedived into the ditch. and I didn't even know him for, like, less than an hour, dude. Wow. That's great. I will never call that person back. I will never go on a date with anybody else. I will say anything because of that. I'm calling him to scare the life out of me, and he's facing me.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 1:

10 to 15 years right now. Wow, that's crazy.

01:45:02 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 9:

Can I be honest with you? I wouldn't first date let a guy drive me. Like, first off, you're trapped in the car. And then you're also with somebody that's like Leo. I wouldn't want to be first date driving.

01:45:13 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 5:

You see, I don't even mind that. Oh, I'll take care of you, Mojo. Come on now.

01:45:16 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 9:

No, no, no, no. Leo, I'm sorry.

01:45:19 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 5:

We can go cruising.

01:45:20 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 9:

Leo, I can only handle you on the phone for about five more seconds here.

01:45:24 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 7:

I want to go to Shane Gillis this weekend. What's up?

01:45:27 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 9:

Come on. No, no, it's not happening. Devin, what's up, Devin?

01:45:33 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 4:

This guy has the smallest penis ever. Doesn't know how to treat women at all.

01:45:41 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 9:

You have a little penis. Yeah. Thank you, Devin. I appreciate that. Leo, comment on that. Would you like to respond?

01:45:49 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 3:

No, but maybe Leo. What is this guy? Devin? Yeah, maybe your mother knows. She can tell you.

01:45:55 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 5:

I cannot with him.

01:45:59 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God.

01:46:00 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 7:

It wasn't a little touchy touch. It was a big touchy touch.

01:46:05 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 9:

Katie, what did you want to say to Leo? The cobra is loose.

01:46:08 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 4:

What's up? Hey, I just want to let this girl know I would block this guy's number immediately.

01:46:16 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

01:46:16 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 2:

I plan to.

01:46:18 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. I'd block this number immediately.

01:46:20 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 7:

I'd have another bowl of cereal. I like Lucky Charms. Man, get bent, woman.

01:46:29 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God. All right, I'm hanging up on you, Leo. I'm hanging up on you. Julia, thank you so much, Julia. I appreciate you for going on me.

01:46:36 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 7:

I took an offer. Don't make it up. Give it to the kid or another date or something. No.

01:46:41 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 6:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:49 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 9:

Julia, how did you put up with that guy? Holy crap.

01:46:52 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 5:

Was he like that all night? He, you know, he had really good energy. So I was vibing with him.

01:46:59 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 2:

He's got energy. Defensive. And then he was like, I don't know. And, you know, like when you're on a date with someone, you try to make a nice. You don't want the whole night to be bad. And then he started driving, and then it all went downhill from there.

01:47:14 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 9:

That's horrible. It was horrible. All right. Second date update. Leo, listeners want him banned from the show. We're going to have to ban him from the show. All right.

01:47:24 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 5:

I kind of want to have him back. You kind of like them when I hang out with Leo this weekend?

01:47:30 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 9:

Tate McCray, sold-out tickets. We've got a chance for you to win right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller is going to win a pair of tickets to go to the sold-out show at Little Caesars Arena Saturday.

01:47:43 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:47:45 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 9:

All right, Shannon, what's up in the Dirty on the 30?

01:47:47 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so I just got this, so I'm going to have to save it for next hour, But the NFL just posted on its social media an even longer teaser clip of the New Heights podcast and Taylor Swift's appearance from today. So give me a minute. So I have Zach putting it in, but it's in our group chat.

01:48:04 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 9:

Oh, is it? Wait, they have a longer clip, meaning it's a.

01:48:10 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 5:

It's like her. It's Jason.

01:48:11 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 8:

Guest today is a singer, songwriter and producer and director from Nashville, Tennessee. That's bulls**t. She is from Redding, Pennsylvania. She is the most awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and iHeart Radio Music Awards. Yeah, damn. Just 14 Grammy Awards and is the only artist in the history to win Album of the Year four times. Last December, she wrapped up the Aerosour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities, five continents. It was the most attended tour of all time. Of all time. I'm still going. Hold up. Her last album, The Torture Poets Department, set a record with 1.76 billion streams globally within the first week alone. All right. In the first week? And as a fan of that guy on the cheese, he has 19 wins, two ASC titles, and a Super Bowl. How do you, presenters? Are you ready for it? Making your podcast to debut the most aggressive guest in the history of shows, Taylor Swift! That intro, Jason. Oh, my God. I've seen this before. No, look, his soul has left his body. I'm cramping. I'm cramping.

01:49:26 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 1:

No, that was so good. Thank you.

01:49:28 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 8:

I tried, Tay.

01:49:29 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for screaming for, like, 47 seconds. That was so nice. That was so sweet.

01:49:33 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 8:

Tay Tay, welcome to New Heights.

01:49:34 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thanks for having me on my favorite podcast. As we all know, you know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast.

01:49:42 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:49:43 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 1:

And I think we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it's more of me.

01:49:52 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 5:

There you go. I love that she's poking fun at herself. But by the way, so the NFL post that and people are already like, unfollow.

01:50:00 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm so pissed that the NFL posted that. But a couple of things while we're talking, Taylor, because this is one of the big stories this morning about the album, The Life of a Showgirl. We got that title. We got that news yesterday. Is there some shade being thrown at Kanye here? Of course there is. The album is called Life of a Showgirl, okay? And when you start typing that title in Apple Music, it actually pops up right before Kanye's 2016 album, The Life of Pablo. And I mean, we all remember the drama between Taylor and Kanye back in 2009 when he famously interrupted her at the MTV VMAs. Then in 2016, he dropped his song Famous, which didn't have some kind things to say about Taylor. And then there was that whole public back and forth with Kim Kardashian. So Swifties are convinced that maybe the title, her titling this album, is a not-so-subtle little play at revenge. In Cuddy, the memoir, Kid Cuddy revealing that at the peak of his fame, he descended into darkness. And he said he used cocaine a lot, basically as a way to prevent taking his life. And he is opening up to CBS in describing a near fatal overdose at his New York City apartment after his debut album's release. He was in a really, really bad place. Listen to this.

01:51:23 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 5:

That was my life for a while. You know, I was running to the grave and I had a death wish and I was so dark and suicidal.

01:51:32 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 1:

You literally start this book lying on the floor of your apartment here in New York, thinking you're going to die from a cocaine overdose.

01:51:39 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:51:39 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 1:

And you were at the peak of your success.

01:51:42 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 5:

It was just starting. I mean, the success was there, but happiness, like, I don't think I felt happy. I think I had a hard time dealing with the fame. And the reason why I was doing cocaine was so I could maintain so I didn't blow my brains out.

01:52:02 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? Yeah, that audio courtesy of CBS Mornings, by the way. And lastly, Spirit Airlines could go out of business in the next year. Yeah. Yeah, Bianca, your favorite.

01:52:13 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 4:

Wait, no, it's Kevin's, too. Kevin, not here to, hold on a second. We've got to get Kevin to respond to this one. Kevin is the biggest Spirit Airlines guy, and he makes fun of me because I say I will not take a Spirit Airlines flight. He gets up. Oh, yeah, do that.

01:52:29 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, Spirit Airlines struggling to regain profitability after emerging from bankruptcy earlier this year. And so executives wrote in Spirit's quarterly filing with the SEC see that the company is uncertain if it's going to be able to meet minimum cash on hand requirements put in place as part of the end of its bankruptcy. And if you remember the news, I believe it was just a couple of weeks ago, they furloughed like 300 pilots. And then they're thinking about selling some of their actual planes and gate capacity to other airlines to make some money.

01:53:03 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 4:

I always found my flights on Spirit never went smooth. It was always that I would book a flight And usually it was going to like Florida, which they had a lot of flights going back there. And if the plane broke, you were screwed.

01:53:15 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, your flight was canceled. There was no delay. They weren't going to find another option for you. But of course, late night, had a field day with this yesterday.

01:53:22 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 3:

Spirit Airlines warned investors that they might not be able to survive if they don't raise more money. Not really the news you want to see mid-flight on your seat back screen. It's like, I'm kidding. It's Spirit. They don't have seat back screen. Correct. Correct.

01:53:39 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, Kat. I thought it was really funny. Hey, for everything you missed today, check out the podcast on that free iHeartRadio app.

01:53:47 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 4:

Kevin's going to be so mad for us doing this. When you pissed, you got time for anything.

01:53:55 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 1:

01:55:56 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show. I am so excited to have this next guest in the studio with us because, A, he's a very good friend, and, B, he's a very good friend. That's all that matters. That's all I want you to know. He is a guy that owns the greatest salons that I've ever seen in the history of salons, but they're in the metro Detroit area. How many salons does Six have? We have three locations. So Birmingham, Royal Oak, and downtown Detroit. Yes, sir. and he is doing something at the Birmingham location on Sunday, August the 24th that I'm assuming that you came up with this. And by the way, George in studio with his beautiful daughters here in studio. Let's give him applause, please. I'm assuming that you came up with this idea because of these two gorgeous women that are sitting right here.

01:56:45 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I actually have three. The third one was, you know, a big fan of being in bed still.

01:56:50 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Wait, how old are the kids?

01:56:52 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 4:

Introduce us to the kids. I have Natalie to my right here. Getting ready to start college. Getting ready to start MSU next week.

01:56:59 - 01:57:02 | Speaker 3:

Go green. Go white. Yay.

01:57:03 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 4:

I have Isabella over there just next to Natalie. She just turned 16.

01:57:08 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 3:

She's very excited, by the way, to get the Jack and Jill bathroom to herself.

01:57:12 - 01:57:13 | Unknown:

Nice.

01:57:13 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 4:

I like it. And then I have Sophia who's 14. Still in bed right now.

01:57:19 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 5:

Good for Sophia.

01:57:20 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 3:

yeah wait how so is she like sleep till what about one o'clock in the afternoon or what two 30 probably are you kidding me yeah wait does mom like uh force her to get up at certain well mom's

01:57:31 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 4:

at the office right now so she's probably listening to us she's still at the office she'll call she'll call and see how sophia is doing and sophia will wake up just to make something to eat

01:57:39 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

okay so you are doing this cool thing on august 24th that i had mentioned i wish i had a daughter I really do. I think I would have been a great girl, Dad. I think I would have honestly been broke because Chelsea would have probably bought a ton more crap for her than she has done for even the three boys. But I would have loved to have, and I saw this over the years with, you know, working with people that had daughters and stuff like that, especially guys with daughters.

01:58:06 - 01:58:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:58:07 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 3:

You spoil the crap out of them. But then you also have a lot of things that you just can't figure out how to do.

01:58:13 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 4:

Right. Well, you have two working parents or you're a single parent. we started this 10 years ago, which I thought was just something. So, you know, my Layla would be at work and I would be like, let me brush their girl's hair. And they're like, I don't want you to brush my hair. You don't know how to brush hair. I'm like, what do you mean? I don't know how to brush hair. Come here. I want mom to do it. I'm like, unless you just sold a parcel on the playground, she can't help you right now. So just come over here and let me do it. No, no, no, no. I'm like, what do you mean? You know, the girls looked at is like, you're a boy, boy does boys don't know how to do girls hair. Yeah. And then I'm like, wow, that's something crazy that you're talking like this and then i would ask my guy friends and they're like yeah i don't know how to do hair they only want mom exactly they only want mom so i'm like this has got it this is what a what a great thing to do did you guys not understand that what your dad does for a living

01:58:56 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 2:

that he does he's a hairstylist yeah he like barely did our hair

01:59:01 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 3:

why but why with you do you understand though this man does famous women's hair all the time

01:59:09 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

i see them at your salon it was just we went straight to mom it was like an automatic reaction Really? Yeah. Just straight to her. He did my hair maybe like twice. And when he did, I took it out and redid it.

01:59:20 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

01:59:21 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. That is so funny.

01:59:23 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 3:

Do you understand people pay big bucks? You're going to MSU for free because of this, man. I can't even get in with your dad.

01:59:28 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 5:

Even if I wanted to get my hairstyle for something.

01:59:31 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:59:31 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 5:

No, I love the event Daddy's Daughters and Deuce.

01:59:34 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 4:

Right. Daddy's Daughters and Deuce. It's so cute. So here's the thing. You get an hour. Each dad and daughter get an hour with the hairstylist. And we teach them how to wash the hair, how to brush the hair, how to do everything. And then we teach them how to do a braid, how to do a bun. This way, the parent feels super comfortable. And it's just a one-on-one with your kid where you're spending that much more time. It's the connection. It's the most important thing you see. And the girls have been with us the whole time. I make them come. And isn't it just different to watch the dads completely change, to watch them do it? We make the dads come to the shampoo bowl and do this, which is crazy. The stylist starts it, and then we're like, all right, you get in right here. And you're watching these dads start to shampoo the hair, and they're, like, doing it right. And then every once in a while, you'll see a hose splash in the air. We're like, it's okay. No big deal. And then we have them come over to the station, and we start brushing their hair out. and then we, like, turn it over to the dad and, like, the dad's doing it. Wow. And then we teach them how to do everything. We do half the braid and then they do the other half.

02:00:36 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 5:

So this is interesting because of, Shannon, I'm thinking, like, to Tim, your dad, when you were a little girl.

02:00:43 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he never did our hair. Uh-uh.

02:00:44 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 5:

But if you and your sister had to go to something, like when your dad had his time with you, what would you guys do for your hair?

02:00:53 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. I can't really remember, but I'm sure he tried. Although I've seen your hair when you were younger.

02:00:56 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 5:

I know.

02:00:57 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I had the worst hair. I had a mushroom cut, okay, until I was, like, in eighth grade. It was terrible. But my dad, my dad always tried. Like, he, you know, he tried to do all those things. But I don't, I think that this would have been something, honestly, this would have been something that he would have probably done. Because, you know, he cared about those things. But, like, I think about Wes, and Wes, you know, was single dad for a really, really long time. And I think he's coming with Samantha. Yeah, I think he's coming. Because this is so important to him because he knows the situation that he had been in for so many years.

02:01:27 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, I had a dad tell me the other day, I used to take my daughter to dance class and I would wait for a mom in the parking lot to put my daughter's hair in a bun because I didn't know how to do it. Totally get it. And we just taught them how to do it. Again, it's something so simple and so easy. And we don't, we, all we ask is for a dad to make a donation to Mott's Children's Hospital. So it's free. It's free. All I want is dads to spend a little bit more quality time with their daughters.

02:01:53 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing. So make a donation to the Children's Hospital, which, by the way, has saved so many kids' lives. We have personally.

02:02:00 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes, we do.

02:02:00 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 5:

You know, families that have had to take their children there. And I'm going to say this. The one thing I love about what George and the entire crew over at Sixth do is you keep it real. And the idea that if you're a guy, and by the way, do we have any dads that have daughters listening here that can do hair? Like they know how to do hair? I want you to shout yourself out. Call us up right now and tell me about the do that you did and how quick, like George's daughters, did you take it out of that bun? I think it's amazing that you're a professional and your daughters didn't like the way you did. What's the matter with dad's technique?

02:02:40 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Girls always know best, you know? Your daughters always know best. Who do the girls go to? Wait, who do you guys go to right now for your hair? I cut their hair. I do all their hair.

02:02:49 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 5:

Do you do it now?

02:02:49 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, he cuts our hair, and then he gives us to his assistant. So, yeah, Courtney, what's up, Courtney?

02:02:58 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you?

02:03:00 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 3:

I think this is amazing. I'm doing great. I'm so glad to hear this this morning. I think it's a wonderful opportunity for parents, not just fathers, but, of course, I understand why it's focused on fathers. However, I'm 28 years old, and I still don't know how to French braid my hair.

02:03:16 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I was going to say this.

02:03:18 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 3:

I will be there with you.

02:03:19 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say this. I will do it, too. Lucy always asks me to braid, and I know how to braid, but nothing, Pat. Like, none of the fancy, cool braids, and I would love to learn.

02:03:30 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't even. I just want to French braid my hair.

02:03:32 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 1:

Please teach me. I will send you everything I know. I promise. Courtney, we want to know how to do our hair.

02:03:39 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 5:

Courtney, where do you live?

02:03:42 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 1:

I live in Sterling Heights.

02:03:43 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so you know Six Salon, then. I'm telling you, this is the greatest people. George, can you imagine this? We've got to put YouTubes together, like YouTube videos. I would absolutely do something like this.

02:03:52 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no, no more YouTubes. Mojo, I watch all those YouTubes. I need a person to be like, this is where you put your fingers. Maybe I have to go work out, too, because your arms get tired. Don't cut your arms out, get tired, please.

02:04:04 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. Christina, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

02:04:08 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good. How are you?

02:04:09 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 5:

Good. Christina, you say you can relate to this, huh?

02:04:13 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, definitely. When I was growing up, my dad, I'm one of three daughters, So he's gotten a lot of practice with doing hair by the time I'm the youngest. So by the time it was my turn to get my hair done for sports, he would do such a good job with a ponytail. It was like getting a facelift. It was so secure. Oh, good tight ponies. That's funny.

02:04:35 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 1:

No bumps. Shout out to him.

02:04:38 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 2:

It was smooth, no bumps, no kinks. It was like the most intense flick back I've ever had in my life.

02:04:45 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 5:

That is so great. And you'll remember that forever. what's up eric how you doing buddy are you are you a single dad um i'm not a single dad but i'm a dad

02:05:08 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 6:

How did you learn how to do it, Eric? Who taught you? Mom?

02:05:13 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 3:

Myself. I had my first daughter, and I had her a lot just to myself because me and her mom split up, and I had to learn how to do hair. So I learned how to do hair.

02:05:24 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 6:

That's amazing. By the way, thank God for YouTube. Figure this stuff out.

02:07:18 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 1:

So I want to call in and say I want to shout out my husband, Mike, because for the first year of our daughter's life, he did her hair. He put in ponytails. He did slick backs. He did little headbands. I was in school and college, so the first year I didn't know how to do hair, so he did it for me. So shout out my husband, Mike.

02:07:36 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 6:

That is awesome. He knows how to do it. He's the man, huh?

02:07:40 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he would do raids. You know, anytime we would go anywhere, he'd be like, oh, no, my daughter not going out like that. Let me go get the brush. Let me go get the gel. Yeah, first year of her life.

02:07:51 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what does he do for a living?

02:07:54 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 1:

Right now, he works in, like, assembly line. He works for Kimberly Clark now. But back then, yeah, he didn't, like, we went nowhere and her hair wasn't done because he did not have it.

02:08:06 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 6:

That's the part that I love so much. Like, you're talking about people that come and show up at this. I like the guy that works the line is doing as daughters do, you know? That's so cool. All right. Well, George, Natalie, Isabella, and then shout-out to Sophia, who's sleeping right now. Didn't come today. What is it? Wait, where did you get these donuts from?

02:08:24 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 7:

I want to shout-out to Peace, Love, and Little Donuts. April and her daughters got up early this morning because, you know, I was told. Those are amazing. Never show up empty-handed. and she's also going to do something for Daddy Daughters and Do's. But these donuts are fantastic.

02:08:40 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I didn't know there was one here. We always go to Traverse City. When we go to Traverse City, this is a destination for us and now they're here.

02:08:47 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 7:

Where are they? In Rochester, right next door to Papa Joe's, Tinkin' Tinkin' and Rochester Road. Wow. They're fantastic.

02:08:55 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 6:

Those are like works of art. I don't know how you could eat those things. They look so beautiful. Those are unbelievable. George, love you. Love your family. Thank you, guys. Congratulations, by the way. Thank you. If you run across a kid by the name of Luke, who's a junior, stay away from him. He's nothing but trouble. Do you have your fake ID yet? Have you gotten your fake ID yet? I'm going to look at her dad. Huh? You got it. I guarantee you she's got one. I guarantee you. By the way, my favorite was, and this is the thing I'm going to give you as your first tip, do not go to the bar at the Graduate Hotel. You will get it taken away. Luke's gotten one taken away from there, and about five of his friends have gotten them taken away. You'll never get in there. They take away every fake ID, but I will tell you the places you can go to.

02:09:36 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thank you.

02:09:37 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 6:

02:10:09 - 02:10:10 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:10:10 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mom. Hey, Christina.

02:10:15 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:10:16 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

02:10:17 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

02:10:19 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

We're doing great. We're excited for five lies to tell your mom. Bianca, tell us a little bit about this five lies.

02:10:25 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 1:

So, from what I'm aware, your mom's ex-boyfriend's a little crazy. He still loves your mom. So we're going to pretend that the boyfriend, that the mom's ex-boyfriend, is going through Christina and showing up at Christina's house to get back with the mom.

02:10:39 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Oh, boy. Okay.

02:10:41 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Are we sure? We want to do this. Yeah.

02:10:45 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 2:

Christina, you are going to have to do some acting here. But I also understand that your boyfriend is going to help with a little bit of this Five Lies.

02:10:54 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I got my boyfriend in on it, too. Surprisingly, me and Bianca were able to talk them into it.

02:11:00 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Well, listen, Bianca can talk anybody into anything. Let's put it that way. All right. Here we go. We're going to do this. You guys get everything ready, and you'll kind of hear parts where there'll be some help with this. We're calling your mom up for five lies. Here are the lies. Lie number one for everybody to listen for. You're going to say, Mom, I'm stressed out right now. Lie number two. Jake is outside my house. That must be the guy, huh? Yep. Lie number three, say he keeps ringing the doorbell. Lie number four, he has a bouquet of flowers in his hand. And lie number five. I think Caleb said he's going to go fight him. Oh, Caleb's the boyfriend? Yeah. He's got your honor, doesn't he? Caleb better be strong during this thing. Here we go. We're calling your mom up. Let's see what happens. It's five lies to tell your mom.

02:11:54 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 4:

All right, let's see. Hello? Hello? Hello? Mom? Yes? I've got a problem. I'm stressing out right now. Okay. Jake is outside my house. This is Boogie. Oh, okay. Jake is outside my house right now. Jake is? Yeah, he keeps ringing the doorbell. Why? I don't know. He has a bouquet of flowers in his hand. Jake does? Mom, I think Caleb's going to go fight him. I don't know what to do. No, no. Go answer the door. He's not going to hurt you. He's on the outside, Mom. Good. Yeah. What does he want? I don't...

02:13:00 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking for Robin here.

02:13:02 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 4:

He's here looking for you, Mom. I don't know.

02:13:04 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you think Robin's here.

02:13:06 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Jake. Does he even know where your new spot is? Why is he at my house, Mom? I don't know.

02:13:16 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 5:

What do I do?

02:13:19 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 4:

I'm at home. Tell him I'm home. you're at home right now yeah all right i'll go outside and i'll talk to him okay yeah i don't know if uh talking to him is gonna work what they're outside screaming at each other i'm not going out there right now why because caleb is trying to kick him off the property mom Mom, okay? We don't want nothing to do with him? I don't know why he even showed up at my house. Me either. He has a bouquet of flowers. He's just standing here.

02:14:06 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mom.

02:14:10 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom?

02:14:12 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah?

02:14:12 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you doing?

02:14:15 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:14:16 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 2:

Mom, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show, and Christina and Caleb has you on Five Lines to tell your mom.

02:14:24 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 4:

Christina, I'm going to kick your ass.

02:14:28 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, Jake is not in front. You don't get flowers, but you do have a guy by the name of Caleb that's a heck of an actor. Oh, my gosh.

02:14:39 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 5:

He played his part. I love my son. I love my son.

02:14:46 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, mom.

02:14:47 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, we worked up thinking this is real, Mom.

02:14:50 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Christina, by the way.

02:14:51 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we worked up, too.

02:14:52 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Great job. I'm going to get the car. Christina, what do we call it? Wait, what did you call it, Christina? What's her nickname? Boogie.

02:14:58 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

My name is Boogie. Boogie.

02:15:00 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, that's the only way she would have recognized it was me right away. That's fantastic, by the way. That was actually very good acting, Christina. You guys, you and Caleb were perfect on that one. You guys practiced this a bunch?

02:15:14 - 02:15:15 | Speaker 1:

This is all wrong, dog, and they killed it.

02:15:16 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 2:

He told me I couldn't practice because it wouldn't be real. Oh, I like that. You're a natural. Hey, Mom, Christina and Caleb won you a prize for five lies to tell your mom. Yeah! Awesome. And please, don't call this guy Jake and tell him to listen to this thing on the radio. I don't want this guy coming after us. I was just going to unblock him and tell him what the heck was wrong with him. Oh, my God. Mom must be a smoke show if Jake's still after you. Is that right? I think so.

02:15:51 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:15:52 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 2:

Five to me. Four, five. Sweet.

02:15:55 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:15:57 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:17:19 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 1:

I feel so bad about this, you guys. Okay, so if you follow me on Instagram, you saw we did an outdoor movie night. Wes bought one of those big blow-up movie screens and a projector, which is so fun.

02:17:32 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 2:

It's funny. You know what? You showed me that yesterday. I haven't seen one of those except for when we went on a camping trip one time, and they had one as a thing. Yeah. You can actually buy them for your house?

02:17:43 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. And I don't think they're very expensive. You buy that, and you buy the projector. And so the kids last night watched the new Smurfs movie is what they were watching. but we invited um smith had a buddy over i had my mom over my sister my niece stella and when we were planning this yesterday morning i was like yeah come on over i'll order pizzas or whatever and then we can set up the the screen in the backyard which we ended up moving to my front porch my covered front porch because obviously it poured last night um and then Samantha and Kieran, my stepkids were home. So we had a lot of people. Well, Lucy had made like a little snack tray for all of the kids during the movie with like popcorn and candy and cookies and and that sort of thing. And I earlier in the day, the kids had gotten hungry. So I made them like a late lunch of pasta or whatever. So last night, everybody came over, watched the movie, you know, Luce was passing out all of the junk food snacks and then about 20 minutes after everybody left my sister texted me and said my mom complained the entire way home about how hungry she was I never ordered the pizza or food or anything you guys how did you forget to do that I have no idea so everybody just had snacks I think because I had thought oh I fed my kids like I had made a late lunch i made them pasta earlier in the day and i just spaced and never ordered pizza and here's the even crazier part nobody said a damn thing to me how like you would think my mom would be like hey where's the pizza where's the pizza or my you know my sister would be like are are we ever gonna order the pizza nobody said anything to me well because of i think that

02:19:29 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 2:

they probably were wondering if maybe uh they misunderstood that you were serving food

02:19:34 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 1:

or something maybe oh no we had talked in our text i went back in our text chain i definitely

02:19:38 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

said i was going to order pizzas how okay so you guess what you just became you became no me i know i always over serve one time i did not get enough food and i'll never let it down grapes one time fingers one and chelsea should have never said that to you you guys were the first family to arrive and chelsea's like don't touch all the food tom I don't know.

02:20:00 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 3:

didn't order enough food it was the one time i always way order food you do this is true with that said no you become that family you become the family that doesn't feed you become the family everybody knows these people the people that you have to eat before you go over to their house seriously because they don't give you enough food or they get too healthy with their food that's what you get so bad you know what i've done before at people's homes like yours i've ordered food to it. I actually would have gotten on my phone and I would have door dashed. I would have said,

02:20:34 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 6:

screw this. I'm getting food. My sister's text, LOL. Mom just goes, I thought they were having

02:20:39 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 3:

pizza. I'm effing starving. So did they stop off on the way home and get some food? I have no idea.

02:20:43 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 6:

I mean, by this, at this point, this was nine 59 PM. I got that tax. There's a, uh, there's a

02:20:48 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

friend of ours that lives in, uh, uh, Farmington, I think. And we go over to, yeah, it's Farmington because we go over to their house and they always don't serve enough food. So I'm like, all right, were stopping at greens on the way and getting sliders or something because it is awful that they don't serve enough food um can i tell you uh something other interesting with this and by the way 844 mojo live shout out the people that don't don't ever have you know have enough food at the party or forgot to order the food or forget to order the food and have you ever just door dashed food to their house um let's talk about this uh movie thing that you have i love the concept yes but i'd never do it like if you invited me which i know you'd you never invite me over to your house which is fine that is not true you know you have the open invitation and when i

02:21:33 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 6:

hear that you are in my area and you didn't stop by i um i get mad but no but let me say this about

02:21:38 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 3:

you i could not do the that movie thing i would be sitting outside with the movies and i think it's a wonderful idea especially if you have kids as young as your kids are kids love that yeah grown men like me who get eaten by mosquitoes i am not sitting in your backyard getting eaten by mosquitoes watching what movie you're watching the blues clues movie what was it smurfs smurfs i'm not watching you know what i'm talking about bianca would you would you want to sit outside in shannon's backyard getting eaten to death by mosquitoes and not eating your own pizza bug

02:22:11 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 5:

spray is a thing bro and honestly i would have done it too i saw your thing yesterday i was like oh my god it's so cute you should have come over you would go over there no invite i'm just kidding

02:22:20 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 3:

next time oh my gosh what's up rosie hi it's mojo in the morning what's going on

02:22:25 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 4:

morning um so i have this one friend she has like three kids she does birthday party never dinner

02:22:33 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

only cake and ice cream wait oh how do you have a birthday party for your kid i'm assuming and not

02:22:41 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 4:

have pizza for her kids she don't have pizza hot dogs no food at all we're there for two three

02:22:48 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 3:

hours we only get cake and ice cream that's nuts that is like not even finger food finger food give me finger by the way what is considered a finger food chips dip veggies those are finger

02:22:59 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 6:

foods i was talking i was thinking of those little cute sandwiches you ever have kids in a blanket

02:23:05 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 3:

do you ever have uh do you ever do you ever see my mom used to have parties at our house and there was a deli that was by our house that used to make these little fingered sandwiches and i would go when I would eat these things all the time, and my favorite was my mom would go, they're finger sandwiches, and my brother the whole time would go, wait a second, you like to finger a sandwich?

02:23:26 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 4:

Like little pinwheels.

02:23:28 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 3:

Right, pinwheels. Oh, my God, I love salami with, what is that, cream cheese on the inside?

02:23:34 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:35 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love it. What's up, Amy? How you doing? Good, how are you? Good. We're doing great, but there are some kids and people starving right now, in Oakland County, and it's Shannon's family because they did not get food last night at her house.

02:23:52 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I get it. So I think Shannon should call whoever sponsors your pizza at the radio station, whoever you guys buy ads from, and send a pizza to every household that was there last night with an apology.

02:24:08 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 3:

That's a great idea. You should call up.

02:24:10 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 1:

Like, see if they can spell out sorry and pepperoni on the pizza.

02:24:13 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Call up Chris from Papa Romano's and see if they'll do those heart-shaped pizzas, and she can write sorry on there. Yeah. That's a great idea. That actually would be kind of funny as a thing to do. Send them a pizza, you know, for their lunch. Shannon, it's funny because Shannon seems like she would be the ultimate entertainer. You know what I mean? Like her house is so nicely decorated, and they've got this freaking big old inflatable movie projector thing outside. It wouldn't surprise me, though, that you guys wouldn't serve food. Didn't Wes, wasn't he hungry at all? Or when was...

02:24:48 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 6:

Wes meal preps. So Wes eats Wes food. Wes has his own food that he eats. Does he really? Yeah, he's meal prepping right now.

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

If I was your sister, I would have gone in and gotten out of the Pyrex dishes of his meal prep.

02:25:00 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 2:

gone in the have you ever done that by the way you ever go over to a friend's house and you go in and you can tell that they're meal preppers and they've got all the food and little nicely things that's it that's why i'll eat that healthy and all you want to do it really all i want to do

02:25:13 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 1:

is just try it just eat it and stuff oh no i don't do that but i used to give kev my meal preps when i used to meal prep back in the day i bring some for kev here would you really yeah i'd feed him I'm going to lunch and dinner.

02:25:24 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Good old Kev. Do we miss Kev?

02:25:27 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I miss Kev.

02:25:28 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 2:

God, I miss him.

02:25:28 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 1:

When I go to my friend's house, though, I don't want to eat healthy. I want to eat junk food.

02:25:31 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 2:

Why is it that in the past, like, when we would have, like, people from the show go away and take a week off? Yeah, you never miss me like this. I'm telling you. I got to be honest with you. This is weird. Why do I miss him so much? Because he's your buddy. Like, I used to like when people would take a week off on the show because it changed things up a little bit. But now, all of a sudden, Kev's gone, and it's not as fun. This is the greatest. So if you missed this earlier this morning, Misfit Victor called up Zach and said to Zach, hey, you guys miss Kev's laugh on your show. Get clips of Kevin laughing and just have Kevin randomly laughing. And actually, this is funny, Because the next time we have like a serious conversation about something on the show and a person calls up and says, yeah, and my dad died of cancer. What's wrong with you? I'm going to play those.

02:26:37 - 02:26:37 | Unknown:

Chris.

02:26:39 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 3:

We've got to get all those. What's his other one?

02:26:41 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

No, yeah. Wait, wait, wait. Usher.

02:26:44 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 3:

Usher, baby. Dirty. Filthy. No, every time I do the dirty, you probably don't hear him do that, but he really goes Filthy. Oh, I don't know why. Do you know what Kev does during the entire show? What? Can you see what he does? No. Do you know what he does?

02:27:04 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 1:

No. What does he do?

02:27:04 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 3:

He either plays Candy Crush or watches basketball games. Oh, yeah. Clash of Clans.

02:27:07 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 1:

Clash of Clans.

02:27:08 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 3:

That's what it is. Are you kidding me? From 6 a.m. until 10 Thursday. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I don't know how he does it, but he does. I think he's one of those people that needs to multitask. He needs to be doing something to be paying attention.

02:27:24 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 2:

Carol, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:27:27 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. Morning. I absolutely miss Kevin. We do miss Kevin. Come on. I'll speak for everyone. We do. He's taking time off. Hey, I have an idea. What? I know. I propose the next time Kevin takes vacation that Victor fill in for him. You know what?

02:27:43 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That would actually be funny. That's a great idea. We should think about something like that. That's a great idea. Yeah. Miss Fit Victor. Enjoy your day. Can I say something? I just found out that this guy's on his freaking thing all day doing that.

02:27:57 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 3:

I used to yell at past people on the show. Yeah, but that's because they didn't pay attention. He actually pays attention. He does pay attention? Yes, absolutely.

02:28:07 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on a second. Yeah, Zach just said in my ear, Shannon just dry snitched on Kevin now.

02:28:14 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 3:

I'll dry snitch on myself. I shop pretty much the entire time. That's no secret.

02:28:18 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 2:

You guys are all slackers. What's up, Amber? How you doing?

02:28:22 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing all right. I kind of tuned in late to your topic, so I don't know 100% what you're talking about, but I heard somebody talking about being hungry. Yeah. And I am currently on my low-calorie diet before my bariatric surgery next Tuesday. Oh, my gosh. So I'm hungry.

02:28:39 - 02:28:39 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:28:40 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Good luck on your bariatric surgery. We're proud of you. That's awesome.

02:28:45 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. It's been a long time coming, and I'm ready for the change. But I'll tell you what, this 100-calorie diet is for the birds.

02:28:52 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 2:

A hundred calories? Amber, though.

02:28:55 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, 1,000 calories. Oh, okay. I was like, that's like water in a potato.

02:29:00 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

I know. I ate that just in a second I was talking to you. Amber, the weight that you'll lose with this is unbelievable. It's drastic. I've seen a lot of friends have done it. So that's amazing. Good for you.

02:29:14 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:29:15 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you. I really appreciate it. Good for your health. Hold on a second. Wait, Amber, how much do you weigh right now? What do you weigh in these days?

02:29:25 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 5:

Can't ask a woman that. Well, you know, I don't really want to say, but it's definitely more than I should.

02:29:34 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, why are you laughing at this woman right now? It's so bad. How much weight are you looking to lose?

02:29:42 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

um honestly so all right i'll tell you where i'm at right now i'm at 354 and i'm not happy with it okay but i would like to get at least to be 200 pounds or under that's incredible well you'll get

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Right there.

02:30:00 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 3:

And you'll do it, and then we'll celebrate on the show. The problem, though, is celebrating, and I've realized this when I've had to, you know, do diets and things like that. You only celebrate with food. Who celebrates and doesn't have food, right? That's right.

02:30:13 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that makes it hard, you know. Food has been there for me for everything.

02:30:17 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 3:

I know. It's my comfort. I love it so much. So, well, take care of yourself. We love you. Thanks, Amber.

02:30:24 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, guys. Bye.

02:30:25 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 4:

Hall of Famer Mojo. Great job, Champ. You've done a great job in your career. Helping the community, making funny, spawning radio DJs, and mentoring others. You didn't get in for identifying talent to bring on the show. Hey there, Kev, but you don't hit every shot you take. Congrats, Mojo.

02:30:42 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 3:

There you go. All right, team of great tickets. You want a text to win right now. Text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. Text TATE to 95500. Good luck.

02:30:56 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

02:30:59 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 3:

Zach, you guys, please bring our next guest in so at the end of The Dirty, we can say hi to them. Shannon is with The Dirty right now. What do you got, Shannon?

02:31:07 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, we have a very important celebrity birthday to kick off The Dirty. I have to say happy birthday to my husband, Wes. Is it his birthday? Oh, that's right.

02:31:13 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 3:

Wait, he doesn't like it acknowledged, though, does he?

02:31:15 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't love celebrating his birthday, but we're going to celebrate him because we're very, very happy that he's here.

02:31:22 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 3:

Wes, happy birthday. Love you, buddy. I hope that you get the best. I don't know, oral or is today going to be a butt day or what do you, does Wes get anything

02:31:37 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 1:

special at all today? He did wake me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't be mad about it. Cause I'm like, it's technically your birthday. So, okay. I always love to send my buddies happy

02:31:45 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 3:

birthday messages with shout outs to their wives that today is their day to get to, you know,

02:31:50 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 1:

have whatever kind of sex they want to have. Yep. Um, okay. So Taylor Swift dropped a sneak peek for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. And again, she is going to be the special guest. You can't get away from this dirty on tonight's episode. Today's episode of the New Heights podcast, which drops at seven o'clock. But fans are going, wait a second. Is there a possible wedding hint in this thing? So behind Taylor and Travis in the New Heights podcast teaser is a book about Casa Wabi, which is... Oh, I turned your mics. I was trying to turn their mic off sorry about that but it's this beautiful exclusive like artsy retreat on the ocean in mexico and it doubles as a very exclusive wedding venue so swifties are going is this a clue like is this an easter egg right there on the bookshelf that maybe a wedding might happen and we might hear a little bit about that tonight or maybe that's just the easter egg in itself is this book

02:32:50 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that Taylor is a Cabo wedding kind of girl, or is she going to be? I think she's like Jeff Bezos and Sanchez getting married in, like, Italy somewhere, some exclusive island.

02:33:03 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 1:

I've always imagined her doing it, like, her home in Rhode Island is so beautiful and private and on the water. I could see her doing something there at one of her homes.

02:33:14 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 3:

I think she's more over the top in Cabo. I don't know. I could be wrong. We'll see. Yeah.

02:33:20 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 1:

From first daughter to fresh start, Ashley Biden just filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, a plastic surgeon by the name of Dr. Holland Crane. And she made it insta-official right away, posting a photo of herself walking through the park. She's given a thumbs up. And Beyonce's freedom is the song of choice for the post. So very subtle there about how excited she is to be getting divorced.

02:33:43 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 3:

Was she married to one of the Bidens or she's the daughter? She's a daughter.

02:33:49 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 1:

She's the Bidens. Yeah, she is the bite.

02:33:50 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's the bite.

02:33:52 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 1:

Luke Bryan pranking his entire audience at his show in Massachusetts this week.

02:33:59 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 4:

TV 12.

02:34:01 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 2:

TV 12. TV 12. TV 12. And welcome to the stage, Tom Brady. Y'all give it up.

02:34:10 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, boo.

02:34:17 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 1:

I'd be so mad. Yeah. i would be so mad about that um and lastly ufc president dana white confirming that the ufc championship will host its first ever mma fight on the south lawn of the white house the president mentioned something about this a couple of weeks ago it is going to happen on july 4th of 2026

02:34:43 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

It's definitely going to happen. I talked to him last night, him being the president, and I'm flying out there at the end of this month, and I'm going to sit down and walk him through all the plans and the renderings, and we're going to start deciding what he wants and doesn't.

02:35:00 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 1:

want but yeah it's definitely gonna happen the event gonna be broadcast live on cbs by the way and data white saying it could be the most watched mma event in tv history are you into mma do you

02:35:11 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 4:

watch that stuff i don't uh you know what's funny is i i it's on like saturday nights and stuff like that and sometimes it'll come on i've never gotten into people just beating the crap out of each other i was never a big boxing guy either but i don't know i am into this though you want you want to hear what's going on so they're doing something special uh with uh the detroit tigers to raise money and benefit a great organization and i don't know guys name so introduce myself or yourselves oh my god you look like magnum this guy looks like magnum pi right over here do you ever watch magnum pi or you know tom sellick right i know tom sellick yeah so they rebooted magnum pi for the younger audience but it's still not as good as the classic magnum pi was Tom Selleck, and he always would wear a Detroit Tigers hat, and the guy had the most unbelievable mustache ever. Now he's on what is it? It's Blue Bloods or whatever. So that was like a big show. Remember Megan's dad used to always love Blue Bloods? Oh, that's his favorite show. What is your name? My name's Sean. Sean, and you are? Who else? I'm Nicole Shotwell. Nicole and? Shanna Smale. I like it. And Nicole, tell us about what is going on Magnum P.I. Day at a Detroit Tigers game. Is that right? Yes, yes.

02:36:20 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 2:

So our friends, Shanna and Sean, are the OGs, right? They started this really cool event in 2009 where they just, I'll let them tell the story, but they have decided this year to benefit the Brain Injury Association of Michigan. Great. So I'll let you tell them the origin story. It's really fun.

02:36:38 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so you guys started the idea of everybody going to the game or as many people as you can dress up in the Hawaiian shirt, wear the old English D, and have a good old mustache.

02:36:49 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so when it started out, it was like, let's just get a group of friends together and do it for fun. Have a good time. How many people did you have your first year? The first year was 12, I think.

02:36:59 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 4:

And then I've seen pictures. How many people did you have last year? Shannon, you know, over 400.

02:37:06 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so we're growing.

02:37:07 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, we're growing. Yeah.

02:37:09 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 3:

And when is this happening this year? When is it going on? We always try to do the last Sunday home game in August.

02:37:14 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 4:

So this year it's August 24th. Okay, so it's just coming up, like, you've got over a week to go find yourself a Hawaiian shirt. Yes. Right?

02:37:22 - 02:37:28 | Speaker 3:

Don't we have some kind of website thing where you can go look for shirts on the Facebook page? Oh, really?

02:37:28 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 1:

Our Facebook group is Magnum P.I. Day at Detroit Tigers, and the featured section on there has the links for the shirt, for a mustache, for the hat. That is so cool. Aviators if you want. Oh, it's okay. Some people wear the short khaki shorts, too, like Magnum did.

02:37:44 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 4:

Did you guys, like, start this by hanging out in, like, somebody's backyard having drinks one night or what it was? Yeah, pretty much.

02:37:49 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 3:

It was myself, my friend Kevin Stevenson, and my wife. We were sitting around talking about, you know, Magnum from back in the 80s and how he did connect with the Detroit Tigers. Yeah. Then came up with the idea, let's just go dress up with a bunch of people.

02:38:02 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 4:

Did they show you guys the first time that you ever did this? Did they show you on the game and say, look at all these people? Or was it not even noticeable at that time?

02:38:09 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 3:

Ironically, the first year we didn't wear matching Hawaiian shirts. Everybody just wore whatever they had in their closet. Yeah. And we did get a lot of questions of like, what are you doing? What is this? So the second year we decided to uniform it. And then Shanna got online and did find a place actually from Hawaii that had the red shirts with the parrots.

02:38:27 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 4:

That's unbelievable. I love it. And it's funny because people have taken this concept and stole it and tried to do it at other games. But it's not the same because it's not the Detroit Tigers. Like I've seen people try to do Magnum PI Day at things. And it's like you got to do it at a Tigers game. That's the perfect part of the whole deal. Yeah, lucky enough, it's our hometown team. All right, so now tell us the organization that is benefiting again.

02:38:48 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 2:

Sure. The Brain Injury Association of Michigan. We've been around since the 1980s, and we are here to serve Michigan's estimated 200,000 brain injury survivors and their families at any phase of their journey.

02:39:01 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 4:

And you guys, what did you think when you had these guys come to you and say, hey, we want to do Magnum PI Day?

02:39:05 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Seriously, our friend Aaron is the one who reached out to me and I was in Maui when he reached out. So it was kind of funny. He's like, you're not going to believe this, Nicole. And I'm like, but like, honestly, I almost cried because brain injury is a hidden disability and a lot of people don't know about it. So for me, the fundraising is vitally important. But letting everybody at Comerica Park know that brain injury exists.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the awareness is huge.

02:39:32 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 2:

Rearness is so, so crucial and so exciting for me. All right, so I'm looking.

02:39:37 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 4:

Who are we playing on the 24th?

02:39:40 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 2:

Kansas City.

02:39:41 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 4:

Kansas City Royals. Yeah. God, that's going to be a fun game. Yes. What a great day. That's going to be so much fun. And again, if you want to be part of it, the Facebook group, please.

02:39:50 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 1:

02:39:53 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 4:

What a cool thing.

02:39:53 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 1:

There's a link there to get tickets.

02:39:55 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 4:

Does he always look like this? Or does he just look like this as we get to Magnum PI?

02:39:58 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

He's got that stash growing for Magnum.

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 2:

do people think that you are thomas magnum uh tom sellick um i think i'm a little short for that but i am trying to manifest myself a ferrari

02:40:09 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 1:

what do you do for a regular job do you have a musician all right yeah why does it not surprise me he's a musician but do you perform at any of the bars or any of this oh yeah sure everywhere

02:40:20 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 2:

we've done a couple mini tours and the band's name is spiral crush and we're a local michigan

02:40:25 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

man. All right. Very cool. All right. Back to Shannon with the dirty clothes. What do you

02:40:29 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 3:

got? Hey, for everything that you missed today or from earlier in the week, you can still listen to the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the free

02:40:35 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

iHeartRadio app. Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Waking up in the middle of the night sucks. Scrolling until you hear the birds start chirping outside is even worse. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:40:50 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 1:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. I got to ask Shannon a quick question about something about hobbies. You mentioned something in your dirty, which I wrote it down when you mentioned it because I thought, I'm going to bring this back up as a topic on the show. You did a story, and the story was women say that the most attractive hobby that a man can have is reading.

02:41:19 - 02:41:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And it was the statistic was like 92 percent of women agree on that.

02:41:25 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 1:

Ninety two. Which, by the way, reading to me is not a hobby. Reading. Oh, it's a hobby. Reading is work. Hobbies should not be work. So you are part of the eight percent.

02:41:34 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 3:

Like nobody does it. Or you're part of the.

02:41:37 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. People who people who read don't do it because of any other reason than they want to tell people I'm a reader. I like to read and I've read this many books. I always looked at when people read, I'm like going, that was painful to do when I was growing up. Like people who read are the same people that work out like three times a day. I'm thinking to myself, oh, whatever. But let me go back on this one. So here were the things. They said the most attractive hobbies for men were reading followed by learning a foreign language. Okay. Playing a musical instrument. Now I understand that. Guys who play musical instruments or learn a musical instrument. Women love the guy that's the guitar guy. Cooking, interesting.

02:42:22 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 3:

That would be a big one, yeah.

02:42:23 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Woodworking, okay? Painting and photography. Those are ones that they thought were creative, which is wild because photography is another one, too. It seems like a lot of people that I know are photographers. They love photography because I think anybody can be a photographer because you know you got your phone basically taking pictures my favorite is seeing somebody who is like a photographer who literally puts so much effort into a photo because usually good photographers take a photo and they know exactly how to grab it without letting somebody see them take a photo and then there are those photographers that have like the thing around their neck and

02:43:07 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 3:

they got like 12 cameras and they make it joe maroon is feeling very attacked right now no love

02:43:13 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 1:

you joe is effortless joe is effortless he really is like you don't know when joe's taking a photo at all it's some of the other people it's it's uh i won't say the other guy's name that does concert photos but it is that one like he's taking photos i'm like oh my god stop taking photos right now joe you don't even know he took a picture he'll send it to me afterwards um here are the ones that you said were turnoff hobbies and these are not even hobbies the turnoff hobbies most turnoff hobby for a woman of a guy watching porn how do you consider watching porn a hobby

02:43:49 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 3:

no i mean if you do it if you do it frequently enough i guess it just becomes a hobby i don't

02:43:56 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 1:

know but i don't i didn't make the survey but i don't watch porn because i go oh my hobby is porn I'm going to go watch porn tonight.

02:44:03 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 3:

It becomes your hobby.

02:44:04 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't get it. Like, how do people consider that a hobby? Other hobbies that they say are clubbing, drinking.

02:44:13 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, see, that's not a hobby.

02:44:14 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

Collecting comics.

02:44:16 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 3:

That's a hobby.

02:44:17 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 1:

And collecting crypto. Those are hobbies that turn women off.

02:44:21 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:44:21 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 1:

Now, crypto to me is not a hobby. Crypto to me is you're trying to make money.

02:44:28 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 3:

Like, you know what I would put on that list is the gym bros. Like the guys who are at the gym every day, twice a day, all they want to talk to you about, my goodness, is the gym and their food and, you know.

02:44:42 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 1:

But is that a hobby, though, or is that just a lifestyle?

02:44:45 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

See, I would say that's a hobby.

02:44:46 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Because I think that that goes in the same vein as the people that are doing porn. I think that's kind of like just part of your thing that you do. I don't necessarily go. Like, I was trying to think of what hobbies are my hobbies. And I need a hobby. Somebody needs to help me with hobbies.

02:44:59 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Here we go.

02:45:00 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 2:

Every two years he gets on this kick.

02:45:02 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 1:

I have two hobbies, two things that I do on a fairly regular basis. Golf, and I kind of have been into drinking, like bourbon and things like that. Like I love bourbon, and I love tasting new bourbons and things like that.

02:45:15 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 2:

And I would actually call that a hobby.

02:45:16 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of a hobby for me. Other than that, I have no hobbies. And I've said this numerous times. Chelsea has been such an amazing wife because she has tried to find me hobbies because she knows once this radio thing's over with, she and I will probably hate being around each other because I'll drive her nuts. She's tried to, you know, get me into motorcycles. Like, she bought me motorcycle lessons. I almost took flying lessons.

02:45:42 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 2:

Didn't you try to get into fishing?

02:45:44 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 1:

She bought me fishing. That was to spend time with the boys. She got me fishing stuff to go fishing. I remember she got me a big thing from Bass Pro Shop, and she comes home and she goes, here's your birthday gift. And it was like, Oh stuff. I'm looking gone. I don't even know what this is. Like I started pulling things out and they were dangly with like little things on there. I'm like, are these earrings like the fishing lures? And I never got into it. I could never, I was never any of these hobbies required me to actually work. And I was like, I wasn't like a hobby should not be effortless. And that's how golf used to be for me. It used to feel like work. And then I started enjoying the time that I was spending away. But yeah, Tiffany, what's going on? It's mojo in the morning.

02:46:25 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm cracking up about, are they erring?

02:46:28 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:46:29 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 3:

So good. But I was telling them to say, reading is sexy and everything. But a man that can fix things, a Mr. Fix-It, that's a good hobby. I love a man that can fix stuff. Yeah, a DIYer. Working with his hands, with woodworking.

02:46:43 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. See, I wish I could do that. I look at these guys that can build things. Tony Travato, you know, so you've heard us talk about Tony, the program director of the radio station here.

02:46:56 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 3:

I heard him yesterday.

02:46:57 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you talk to the PD. So Tony Travato took a week off last week to redo his bathrooms in his house and remodel his house. That's what I'm talking about, right there. He took a week off and literally worked. Like, who does that? You know what I mean?

02:47:17 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 2:

No, he's not. He's very happily married. But here's the thing with... Well, good on his wife. Here's the thing about guys who like to fix stuff and the DIYers. I feel like there's a gray area. And I say this because Wes loves doing stuff around the house, around the yard himself. But sometimes he's like, hey, I'm going to install a new electrical outlet in the basement. Please, for the love of God, let a professional do that. There are some things that actually really scare me when it comes to the do-it-yourself first.

02:47:46 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's a very good chance that you're going to cause a fire in our house based on what you're doing.

02:47:51 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 2:

Like, I'm proud that you want to do it, but I don't want you to do it.

02:47:57 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 1:

It's funny. There's certain guys that I know that have things that they do that just come across effortless. It's the guys that try something like me. Like, if I tried photography, I would not be effortless. I would go buy the greatest equipment ever, and it would be the biggest waste of money because I would take a class or I'd do, you know, whatever. And then after a while, I'd look like the guy that was a tool. You know what I mean? Like a total tool doing it. You have to look natural when you're doing the hobby. Like riding a motorcycle. So Chels bought me the riding lessons for my birthday. And this was my thing that I was going to do. I showed up at Farmington Hills, Harley Davidson. And I walked in there and said, hi, my wife got me a card. And the guy goes, we'll refund you. He looked at me and he said, you're not going to do it. He looked at me and he said, you'll kill yourself. It was riding lessons.

02:48:52 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Did you ever even get up on a motorcycle?

02:48:53 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 1:

No, he gave me my money back. I swear to God. I walked in there and I started rubbing the seat of a bike. And he looked at me and he goes, this guy is not a Harley guy. And he gave me my money back. I'm like, this is really sweet. It's nice leather. Rick, what's going on? How you doing?

02:49:09 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm all right. You should try coin collecting. You learn the history of all the old coins. And then, you know, it's not really physical. You don't have to move around a lot.

02:49:21 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Do you know who you're talking to? Do you ever watch our social media and see that I do not want to grow old? I'm, like, trying to keep Botox in my face. I'm trying to look younger. I'm trying to act younger. You know what coin collecting is? An old guy's hobby.

02:49:35 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I've been doing it since I was eight years old. My grandfather got into it.

02:49:40 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

How old are you, 8,000? Come on, Rick. That's horrible. What a horrible hobby that is. My dad used to do that in stamps. It was horrible. Oh, no. You don't want to do stamps. My dad collected both of those things, and honestly, it was just an awful hobby for him to have. My poor dad and I are so similar. My dad, God rest his soul.

02:50:00 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 5:

He had like a bajillion hobbies like me, and honestly, you know what he should have done? He should have worked until he died because that would have been so much better for him because he couldn't do any of these hobbies. You know, they were boring to him. George, what's up? Hey, can you hear me? I got you, George. Hey, George, what do you think? Porn is a hobby. I'm now going to use that when Chelsea says, what are you doing? I'm going to go do my hobby right now. What's happening?

02:50:27 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Then she'll think it's okay.

02:50:30 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 5:

What are hobbies that I should do? What should I try?

02:50:34 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 2:

Well, honestly, I like cars, like fixing cars and stuff like that. It can be very expensive, though. That's my problem. I bet.

02:50:44 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 5:

I've always wanted to have, like, a classic car, like an old. Like, I've wanted, like, a Firebird, like, you know, one of those old Firebirds or a Camaro or something. You know what those cars are?

02:50:54 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my dad has two classic cars in his garage. one's an mg and the other one's either a firebird or thunderbird i'm kind of embarrassed i don't

02:51:01 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 5:

know but really yeah why don't you take them and see if your dad will get what you think he's giving

02:51:06 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 1:

me the mg yes and then who gets the the other one uh they they love that one so that's not that's

02:51:13 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 5:

the one that's going well your dad is he a dream cruise guy like i've always wanted to to have them but never do it to dream cruise i've always wanted to have it and just have it be like a summer vehicle and be something you drive like in the summertime but um cars are cool i like george i like this as a hobby that would be kind of fun oh yeah i do you know i used to work with a guy that was an actor a child actor his name was gary coleman do you know who gary coleman was no i don't like that he was only 21 gary gary coleman was on a show called different strokes he was on my show in tucson gary coleman his hobby was trains he loved lionel trains those that's creepy to me and i used to have to take gary that is creepy i used to have to take gary to a train store to buy trains and he had like cabooses and he would sit there this is no joke and this is honestly i with this radio hall of fame i'm like i'm pulling out pictures of the past and i'm contemplating like documenting a lot of this stuff jeff dollar my old producer and i used to have to take him to a train store in tucson arizona and gary would go and he would pick up the the little

02:52:22 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 1:

choo choo trains and he would go choo choo choo no he would not you are making that up

02:52:27 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 5:

ask jeff dollar we'll call jeff dollar up and jeff dollar will tell you for a fact that that's

02:52:34 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 1:

what gary coleman would do that's like women who collect those madame alexander dolls there's all those different dolls there's something yeah i think you're the same person that a little creepy

02:52:44 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 5:

that honestly like you know you go on a date and you tie the date up or something what's up danny How you doing?

02:52:50 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, my favorite radio people. Good morning, Danny. What's up? Mojo, I just have to tell you, the two callers ago, you were being a hater. Those coins and stamp hobbies, they get you a lot, a lot of money. Do they really?

02:53:07 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:53:07 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 3:

They really do. I know a couple people that do it. They get them authorized and stuff, too. Some of those pennies are worth thousands and thousands of dollars.

02:53:17 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 5:

i should actually honestly you know not be a hater of this stuff because at least they're doing something you know and i i i feel bad that i've got no motivation to do anything other than

02:53:29 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 4:

02:54:37 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 4:

That's a scary name for a piano teacher.

02:54:39 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 5:

She was a piano teacher.

02:54:42 - 02:54:51 | Speaker 4:

Mrs. Mother, that's kind of a scary name. Yes. Well, I'm telling you, it's the greatest turn on ever.

02:54:51 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I got one here. Hold on. Fa la la, la la, la la, la la.

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 1:

La, la, la, la.

02:55:04 - 02:55:12 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Hey, what's going on, Ken?

02:55:13 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. Hey, everyone. Hey. I play darts. I think darts is fun. You can get out of a league. If you drink, you can go to the bar leagues.

02:55:24 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that is actually a legit hobby. Darts?

02:55:28 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You can do the plastic tips or the steel tips.

02:55:32 - 02:55:40 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea, I'm going up to do darts over at the lodge. Could you imagine if I told Chelsea that that was going to be my hobby?

02:55:41 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 6:

She'd think you were having an affair. A million percent. Exactly.

02:55:44 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 4:

We're going to hang out and we're going to do a little darts. How about lawn darts? You ever play lawn darts?

02:55:50 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's even better.

02:55:51 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 4:

Lawn darts are the greatest. Did you ever do that at all?

02:55:53 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 6:

I mean, we used to play. Like my grandma Shani's granny Had that lawn dart set With like the Hulu hoop circles Do you know what I'm talking about And the yellow and red lawn darts That were probably Very unsafe for kids You're not a kid

02:56:03 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 4:

Until you go to an emergency room After a lawn dart accident What's up Brittany What's a good hobby

02:56:08 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 1:

Good morning So my husband's hobby Is Lego And I'm talking like He actually goes to Lego events and stuff He just went to one Last week actually Oh god He's been asking me On Lego Masters And everything But here's the thing If you collect them Long enough We sold a lot for $20,000. Wow. Yeah. It's a good, like, little asset bank account, whatever you want to do with it, if you want to keep it, and then you just keep doing what you're doing. Okay. All right.

02:56:34 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 4:

I got to look into it. Legos is kind of like the new thing. Lego kids that grew up playing with Legos now turning them into something later in life. All right. Thank you for all the advice. I appreciate it. I guess I can just officially just say that porn is a hobby. I don't know.

02:56:52 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. You know, yesterday when we were on the air, there was some drilling going on in front of

02:57:11 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 4:

the building, and I cannot believe they were able to drill a full-on hole in front of the building here. A big hole. And today the pavement is freshly paved. Like it's like done. I cannot believe I thought I was going to have to come in. I got here an extra 20 minutes early because I thought it was going to take a while to get into the building because it took a little bit trying to get out of the building yesterday. Well, yesterday we went on the air and we were talking about this and then I found out some information from our friends over at DTE about what exactly was going on and on the phone with us right now from dte is ty turner who dte by the way doing this in maybe your neighborhood soon ty how you doing good morning i'm doing great how are you fantastic ty what exactly were they doing in front of our building yesterday here in eastern market

02:58:00 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 2:

so yeah so we were out there on the fix a gas leak it was a leak that we identified um it wasn't a large leak, but we had to go underground and cut out a segment of pipe to make sure everything was up to code and that you guys were safe. Hey, Ty, how did they know that there was a gas leak there? How was that figured out? So we routinely go out, you know, survey our pipes. We go out and do inspections and look for leaks. And, you know, we grade them and then we make them safe and we schedule the repairs if something is major at the time we'll fix it immediately but if it's something is safe you know we'll come back and replace it based on severity

02:58:42 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 4:

so it's interesting because a lot of people probably don't even realize they think dte they think electric that's what i thought dte also providing natural gas too to many of our listening area especially i know our west michigan listeners all the time talk about dte yeah so yeah dte is um

02:58:59 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 2:

you know gas and electric you know we got wind and so you know solar and and wind power but yeah we're a gas and electric company and uh we've got 1.3 million you know gas customers throughout the state so you talk about wayne and washington are our biggest areas down here but even if you get in greater michigan you talk about like grand rapids muskegon and even you know up in uh up and traverse city wow so we cover quite a big territory in the state can i tell you something

02:59:28 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 4:

And it's funny, yesterday I got so surprised by the jackhammering that was being done out in front of the building that that was the thing that kind of shook me a little bit. But to know that there was a gas leak that needed to be repaired, now I feel horrible that I was complaining about the noise. So I apologize to you, and I apologize especially to the work crew that was out there yesterday.

02:59:48 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Hey, no worries. I mean, we got a lot of work going on. I mean, we do try to connect with people, but sometimes, you know, we miss people coming and going to get my heads up. So, yeah, we'd rather, you know, you come out there and ask. because what's going on and, you know, and just wonder. But, yeah, we're out there to make people safe. That's awesome. Ty, thank you for being on with us. Ty Turner, it's great to have you on, and thank you to everybody over at DTE. Oh, you're welcome, but thanks for having me. We appreciate you so much. It's funny because at the end of the show yesterday, I got done, and they're out there, and they're doing their thing, and they're, you know, getting into the hole and fixing the pipe and all this.

03:00:23 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 3:

I peeked over. Did you look at what they were doing?

03:00:25 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 2:

They're nuts. Talk about, like, actually working for a living. and what we do but i can't believe the day i walked in today completely cleaned up like the area there so the street actually looks better than it did before um all right we'll be right

03:00:40 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 1:

back second date update next add mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iheart radio app and never miss war of the roses the second date update mida hole or the throwback throwdown it's the second date update a mojo in the morning second date update why are you not getting a call

03:00:58 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 2:

We're going to find out. We're going to see what's happening. I think we kind of have an idea of what's going on. Leo is getting ghosted, and his ghosting, he's worried, stems from the fact that he got into a car accident on the date. Leo, you there? Yeah, I'm here. Is everybody okay from the accident? Were you safe?

03:01:21 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, everybody's fine. Nobody's dead.

03:01:24 - 03:01:29 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that's kind of embarrassing, isn't it? What did you do? Did you rear-end somebody or did you hit somebody?

03:01:31 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was just, you know, I gave someone a little love tap, I guess you could say.

03:01:34 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, and now you're not hearing from Julia, who you went on the date with, and you want to find out what's going on. Well, we got her on the phone. Julia, will you say hello to Leo?

03:01:45 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Hi.

03:01:50 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 2:

Boy, you have no energy, Julia. Are you doing okay? Are you everything okay?

03:01:54 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 3:

uh well i'm i'm i let's just say there's a reason i ghosted him does it have to do with being in an accident well yeah of course you know about the accident right he mentioned it yes yeah yeah it was it it really wasn't cute like he was he was driving super fast he was weaving in the lanes and yeah i i just it wasn't cute because so he was being irresponsible the way that he was driving oh completely completely i i i felt unsafe coming on now everything's fine

03:02:30 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 4:

like don't act like it's such a big deal like everything is fine you're not dead you're here on the radio like calm down well i mean that's okay but that's kind of a douchey move

03:02:39 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's like so kind of weird the way you're talking about it like it's a car accident still

03:02:45 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 5:

okay well hold up first of all it was it was in all my fault like you know you know she's kind I'm leaving out the little part where, you know, she gave me a little touchy touch as I was driving. So, you know, I was a little distracted.

03:02:57 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 2:

She, what is it? What is a touchy touch?

03:03:00 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you know what a touchy touch is. Come on now.

03:03:03 - 03:03:07 | Speaker 2:

She was, she reached over and she was grabbing you or playing around with you at the time?

03:03:07 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. I love that you're trying to make. I'll say that. It was a great date. Okay.

03:03:13 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I love that you're trying to make that sound like a problem right now.

03:03:16 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, but hold on one second. if Julia you were touching him while he was going and driving you said weaving in and out of traffic

03:03:24 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 3:

okay I think that that is such a she was doing a little weaving herself if you know what I mean oh I would by the way I'd be ghosting him too that's the I mean that's the ghosting part right there this is just confirming to me exactly how immature you actually are because you obviously didn't care about my safety when i expressed that i was i was like feeling a little bit nervous about like you didn't see the look on my face hold on one sec i just want to stop for one second

03:03:52 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 2:

because i'm i'm a little confused so he was weaving in and out of traffic you were saying yeah okay so he's driving recklessly and at the time that he's driving recklessly leo you say was she like just goofing with you and pushing you and telling you to stop driving recklessly Or was she actually, was she grabbing you and like trying to grab your junk? Yes.

03:04:20 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, she was enjoying the day. She was enjoying the ride, as was I. And it wasn't until after, you know, the little love tap happened. And then, yeah, I will admit she freaked out from there. You know, I didn't blame her. You know, it was kind of scary. But like overall, like we obviously had a connection, you know, figuratively and literally. So, like, I still, you know, I was open to fear again. But, yeah, she's just blowing me off. And, you know.

03:04:45 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 2:

You were tight. Wait. So, you were tight. Were you giving him, like, a little, like, a handy while you were driving? While he was driving? A petite touch.

03:04:53 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 3:

Definitely not. I think he was misinterpreting what was happening. I obviously, I did like him. And I was, like, putting my hand on his side, but I don't think that's, I don't think it was anything more than, yeah, I think he was misinterpreting it. And I also think that when I was trying to, like, get his attention, when he's driving recklessly, like, that's, I think he's completely misinterpreted.

03:05:17 - 03:05:18 | Speaker 7:

I'm a confident driver. That wasn't recklessly.

03:05:18 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 1:

Like, you're freaking out. It's okay, girl.

03:05:21 - 03:05:27 | Speaker 8:

It's going to be okay. I know, but if she told you she felt uncomfortable and unsafe and you kept doing it, that would bug me, too.

03:05:27 - 03:05:30 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, second date update.

03:05:31 - 03:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning. I think she's absolutely right to not go back out with him. He is. Oh, come on. Obviously, he's embarrassed. Stop on talking. Thank you. Anyway, he's trying to embarrass her because he's embarrassed on the radio, telling her, oh, no, she liked it. And then, oh, she's giving me a handy. And she's clearly saying, no, I didn't. No, I didn't. Sir, no means no. She told you, no, she doesn't like you. She told you no, she wasn't giving you a handy And you're still trying to invalidate her You're still trying to talk to her on the radio We love you, Sarah

03:06:06 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 8:

Also, the guys who weave in and out of traffic You're It's not cute

03:06:13 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 6:

You're not Speed Racer 5 here, grow up, I'm trying to live

03:06:17 - 03:06:28 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Sarah needs to be a misfit What kind of a name can we give her This is like, I love it Sound off Sarah here on the phone Man, make her a misfit, that's great What's going on, how you doing, Eric?

03:06:29 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 7:

Hey, yeah, no, it sounds like, just as an outsider looking in, kind of sounds like Leo was trying to play the cool guy on the date, and it backfired, and he made him look like a douche.

03:06:41 - 03:06:44 | Speaker 8:

And who says touchy-touch? Oh, man, you're just, you ain't getting no touchy-touch.

03:06:44 - 03:06:50 | Speaker 7:

Get out of here. You're bad, dude. You're bad. Learn from it. Move on.

03:06:51 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Suzanne.

03:06:51 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I am bad.

03:06:52 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 2:

I'm bad to the bone, brother.

03:06:54 - 03:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Who is this guy? Lydia. Do you see why I ghosted him?

03:07:01 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 1:

What? Wait, hold on a second. No, that's the wrong one. It's a ghost bag. There you go. That's the one I wanted. Suzanne, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi, Suzanne. Good morning.

03:07:11 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Suzanne. I know. Good morning. Oh, my word. You have to be acting. You are acting like such a jerk. You must be just making this all up just to act like a bigger jerk. No way that any mother would ever let you date their daughter. And this girl needs to run. I know she's already made her up her mind, but she is going to run. And every woman listening to this is going to run. She's not yet. She's not a grandmother yet. Go ahead.

03:07:42 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 1:

I think he's talking to you, Suzanne. I think it's my grandmother.

03:07:45 - 03:07:46 | Unknown:

You're good.

03:07:46 - 03:07:48 | Speaker 4:

You're good. It would never let you date her.

03:07:49 - 03:07:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Hold on a second. Kenny wants to say something. What's up, Kenny? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

03:07:56 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Morning, guys. So I got two things. Buddy, as a truck driver, if you F around, you'll find out. It's not cute to drive like an a-hole, so don't do it. Second thing, I'm pretty sure she's not calling him back because she's got either David Feminino or Top Dog Law on retainer. She's probably going to sue him.

03:08:14 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

03:08:15 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Like, oh, my back, my back, I'm hurt.

03:08:17 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 1:

I like Feminino better. Get David, get paid. What's going on? Angela, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

03:08:23 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 5:

Hi, so the same thing happened to me, too. I was on a first date, and we were at this restaurant bar. You were doing a marriage marriage?

03:08:30 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait, with Leo.

03:08:31 - 03:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay, Leo.

03:08:32 - 03:08:33 | Speaker 1:

Leo.

03:08:33 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 5:

Shut up for a minute.

03:08:34 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Angela, what's up?

03:08:35 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 5:

I know, right? Be quiet, or I'm going to have to call you and, you know, take care of you.

03:08:40 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Angela? You're going to take care of me.

03:08:44 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 5:

So I, like, went on a first date with a guy. We met at a restaurant bar. He did the same thing. He pulled out, and he pulled out onto the road to get on the expressway, and he loved to have somebody and then he took off he went on the expressway he's doing like 120 weaving in and out getting on and off the expressway and the next thing i know we end up in troy somewhere and he did 120 going on this ramp and we dove off flipped over and nosedived into the ditch and i didn't even know him for like less than an hour dude wow that's great i i i will never call that person back i will never go on a date with anybody else i will do anything because I'm telling you, it's scared the life out of me. And he's facing 10 to 15 years right now. Wow, that's crazy.

03:09:26 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Can I be honest with you? I wouldn't first date let a guy drive me. Like, first off, you're trapped in the car. And then you're also with somebody that's like Leo. I wouldn't want to be first date driving.

03:09:37 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 8:

You see, I don't even mind that. Oh, I take care of you, Mojo. Come on now.

03:09:40 - 03:09:42 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. Leo, I'm sorry.

03:09:43 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 8:

We can go cruising.

03:09:44 - 03:09:54 | Speaker 1:

Leo, I can only handle you on the phone for about five more seconds here. I want to go to Shane Gillis this weekend. What's up? No, no, it's not happening. Devin, what's up, Devin?

03:09:56 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 7:

This guy has the smallest penis.

03:10:00 - 03:10:00 | Unknown:

Ever.

03:10:02 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 1:

Doesn't know how to treat women at all.

03:10:05 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 4:

You have a little penis. Yeah. Thank you, Devin. I appreciate that. Leo, comment on that. Would you like to respond?

03:10:13 - 03:10:18 | Speaker 2:

No, but maybe Leo. What is this guy? Devin? Devin. Yeah, maybe your mother knows. Like, she can tell you.

03:10:19 - 03:10:21 | Speaker 1:

I cannot with him.

03:10:22 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

03:10:24 - 03:10:27 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't a little touchy touch. It was a big touchy touch.

03:10:27 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 4:

Katie, what did you want to say to Leo? The Cobra is loose.

03:10:32 - 03:10:38 | Speaker 3:

What's up? Hey, I just want to let this girl know I would block this guy's number immediately.

03:10:39 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:10:40 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 3:

I plan to.

03:10:41 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I block this number immediately.

03:10:44 - 03:10:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to have another bowl of cereal. I like Lucky Charms. Man, get bent, woman.

03:10:52 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. All right, I'm hanging up on you, Leo. I'm hanging up on you. Julia, thank you so much, Julia. I appreciate you for going on.

03:10:59 - 03:11:12 | Speaker 2:
