00:00:48 - 00:00:53 | Speaker 3:

Boy, you are not even playful. Now you're mean. I mean, don't do that.

00:00:53 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 2:

No, don't try to shoot and hide the gun. You shot first. Don't be mad because I got a bigger gun.

00:00:58 - 00:00:59 | Speaker 3:

Want me to read some of these text messages?

00:00:59 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 2:

I don't care, but go ahead.

00:01:01 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 3:

Kev sounds like a kid today. Please shut up, Kev. He's getting annoying. Kev went from fun to now he is. For sure. Now too noisy. All right, I'll just go home. No. No. We know. I should stay home. Pull back, pull back, pull back, relax. All right, breathe. Go ahead. Let's do a little yoga. All right, for sure. Let me chill. Let me chill. No, don't tell him to chill. Let me chill. I'm going to take my shoes off. Come on.

00:01:22 - 00:01:23 | Speaker 1:

Please don't take your shoes off.

00:01:23 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to kick back. Is this what it was like the last couple of days when I was on? No, honestly, it was chill. All right, see, let's all chill. Let's all chill. Actually, let's all chill, and then let's have Kevin do a topic about the fact that he and his dad got into a fight when they were driving together in the car. Kevin and his dad have a very fun relationship. It is one of those relationships where one day I'm like, oh, this is all nice. kev and his dad are you know kind of gotten together and they're hanging out watching games together and stuff and then the next day we find out that kev's dad's going in his refrigerator and stealing all of his food or something like that or and now first off where were you driving that you guys were in the car together i don't even remember to be honest with you you guys were just hanging out driving who was the driver i was the driver okay so you're in your car yeah driving your dad which is nice i by the way there's something about when you get to give your dad or mom a drive somewhere, like a ride somewhere. It used to be nice. You feel like it is. It's the role reversal. Now you're taking care of your parents.

00:02:25 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to say that. I think earlier on, when you first started driving your parents, they want to, like, tell you to slow down or they want to tell you you're not in the lane all the way.

00:02:33 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 1:

My mom used to hang on to that bar on the side. You know, the ceiling. The old spit hammer.

00:02:39 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It used to be so nerve-wracking driving my parents or driving my grandmother because it felt like you were still in driving school. Like they wanted to correct every little thing you did. And when you're more relaxed, you can drive better. And my dad is the type of person that I feel like I like having air on in the car. It's hot as hell outside, 90 plus degrees. I like air conditioning. My dad likes the window down. I feel like when you're the driver of the car, you decide what goes on in the car. Some people want to make sure their passengers are okay. I don't want hot-ass air all over my body and my face.

00:03:20 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 3:

So real quick, when you say, some people want to know, did you, when you're going to go, say, Dad, do you want to know what temperature do you want it at? Or how did it get to the, he just rolled the windows down right from the start?

00:03:30 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 2:

Man, can we have the window? I think the window was down. I think it started down. And then I like, you know. You rolled it up? You roll your own windows up. I want the air on. It's hot.

00:03:39 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:03:40 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 2:

You know, I don't want hot air. I don't care if it's a lot of air. I don't want it. It's too hot. I want cold air.

00:03:45 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 3:

I want AC. So this is interesting because anytime you have passengers in your car, I always feel like it's the driver's call on the air conditioning. It's also the driver's call on whatever radio or, you know, any thing that you're going to play, whether you're going to get the aux cord or not. And in this case, your dad didn't want to do that. No, he wants the air. Can I have some air?

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Can I have the air on? Then he started getting all pouty.

00:04:11 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 1:

See, I feel like I'm so the opposite. I want to make sure that my passenger has full control over AC, heat, music, whatever.

00:04:21 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 3:

You would even let your passenger choose the windows down?

00:04:23 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 1:

The only time I don't want the window down is if I'm on my way somewhere important and my hair looks cute. I don't want my hair to be going around. Then you've got to roll up the window. Other than that, I don't care.

00:04:33 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny is that I started this off by saying that here you are driving your parent because when you were a kid, your parents never would ask you how you wanted it. like you could be in the backseat of the car like could you imagine as a kid you saying it's hot back here you can turn it up and be like shut up you know you'll like it you're you'll be walking your opinion doesn't matter um okay so let's go with this right now 844 mojo live 844-665-65

00:05:00 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

4548. Who gets the call on this? My wife and I fight over the air all the time. And thank God, by the way, thank God and shout out to Gordon Chevrolet and everybody that makes Chevrolets that they have the ability to be able to do the temperature on each side. Different. But here's the only problem. Chelsea will drive with seat warmers on because she could turn her temperature over to like 80 degrees and I can have my down at 65, which is usually where I have it. and chelsea has to have her seat warmer on because it is so damn cold okay so i do i feel

00:05:32 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 7:

like i'm so weird i put my seat warmer on when i have the ac on really really yes because i don't like it to be sticky in the car you could never have an electric car but then i get kind of cold so i have the butt warmer on and my ac on if you had an electric car you would run through your

00:05:49 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 1:

battery in like five seconds you'd be hanging out at the charging stations every second what's up Keith, how you doing?

00:05:56 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, man. All right. Long time listener. Hey.

00:06:02 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

Keith, I got to ask you, what are your thoughts on this one? Kev doesn't want his dad rolling the windows down. He wants to have the air on.

00:06:09 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 3:

I tell you what, man. You got to roll with your dad on this one because he dealt with you. You're a little harder than dad, man. I'm not. Do you know my dad? No. Yeah. Their situation is a little different. Yeah, I got a mom, and she's the same way. Like, you go in her house, it's like an oven in her.

00:06:32 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what about what would be different with your mom? If it was your mom that wanted the windows down, are you more?

00:06:37 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm the same way, bro. Really? Like, how come? No, my mom wanted the windows down. However she wanted it, I'm going to make her comfortable. Because that's my mom. Yeah, exactly.

00:06:45 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

I do hate the family members that don't turn their air conditioning on, and moms or grandmas are like that sometimes. They got the windows open. It's 90 degrees outside. What's up, Bree? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:06:56 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. How are you?

00:06:58 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What's going on?

00:07:00 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 6:

My dad calls the windows down 240 or 440 air. Two windows down and 40 miles an hour.

00:07:09 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. I've never heard of that before. That is so cool. What's the temperature outside where the windows are down in your car?

00:07:17 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 6:

They're not down. I need the AC. No. That's what I'm talking about. In allergy season. Then I lose the AC. Yeah.

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

I got allergies.

00:07:25 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 6:

Allergy season.

00:07:26 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 1:

I ain't messing with allergies. I'm coughing up a storm. Nerd. What's up, Becky? Hi. Becky. What's going on?

00:07:35 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Unknown:

Kev.

00:07:36 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 5:

Kev. Just. What's that? That's your dad, bro. That's your dad. Unless. I mean, I get it. I get it. But unless he was a royal a-hole to you growing up, just shut up. Listen. Who do you want? It's 95 degrees outside. I agree. But they grew up without it. They did. That's exactly what they tell us, and you know that. We survived. You know, damn well, we were outside and all this crap, you know, running around. Just do what you want.

00:08:06 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

I think it's also a matter of where you're driving. Because if you're driving the Lodge or 75, you've got windows up and air conditioning on. True. If you're driving down, you know, Gratiot or Jefferson, and he's got the windows up, your dad's looking at the ladies probably walking out. It's not like you can still see them. I know. It's glass. But it looks, he's with his son. He's showing off the fact that. You think that's what it is? Kevin Irwin the first, Kevin Irwin the second. Yeah. And why did you not do Kevin Irwin the third for Josiah? I wanted him to start his own legacy. Maddie, what's up, Maddie? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:08:43 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 4:

hi hi how are you what's going on um i fully believe that the driver has 100 percent control of the car unless it's your significant other then your significant other also has

00:08:58 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

i agree wait is that on your case too or is it just the wives when they're the they're they're the significant others um you know happy wife happy life that's what it is exactly there's not a husband in the world that uh that gets any call on any of that stuff what's

00:09:17 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 2:

up ben hey guys good morning i have a jeep and we'll have the doors off the top off

00:09:27 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

you know what i get it when i when i had my jeep i would have the air conditioning rolling all the time or the heat rolling on those really cold mornings but the jeep is a different story i couldn't get my wife to drive with me in the jeep because she didn't want her hair all messed up and all over the place i would have to have like hair ties and stuff in the car scrunchies or whatever they were at the time and it was like one of those things where she still wouldn't go

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

with me yep i bought her a hat just so her Oh, you've got water.

00:10:00 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's funny. Hey, thanks for the call, buddy. I appreciate you, man. All right. Everybody's car, you can tell he's in a Jeep right now. He's like cutting out and stuff. I feel like if you take the top off, doesn't the sun just beat down on you? Isn't that like extremely hot? You know what a Jeep is great for? A week. It's like, it's like, it is a great rental at Hertz. It is a great, it's a great, I'm going to borrow my friend's car because I'm going to Traverse City this weekend. It is not my everyday vehicle. It's one of those. And no offense, Toledo and everybody that makes our Jeeps. We love you so much. It's everybody's third car. Let's make it our third car. Because when it was my number one car, the freaking top down, you know, at a time when it was all of a sudden raining, I got pulled into a mobile gas station to sit underneath that thing for a while. And then the other one, too, was the Jeep Wobble. I'd get that Jeep Wobble. It scared the crap out of me. When you're on the highway. Oh, the death wobble.

00:11:01 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Driving in the car and listening to the radio counts as cardio, right? This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:11:09 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 1:

All right, time now to win tickets to go see Tate McCray's sold-out show. It's going to be fun. Text Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500. That is Tate, T-A-T-E, and a chance to win a pair of tickets Saturday night. It's going to be sold out, and you could be going for Mojo in the Morning. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. I have been telling people this phrase for the last four days because Shannon told us the story earlier. I want her to tell the story on the air because this is going to be something that you're going to tell your friends. Spread the sawdust has been something I've told friends of mine.

00:11:46 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

My dad's going to be so excited.

00:11:48 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 1:

Because you told the story about your dad in the spread the sawdust phrase, and honestly, I've told friends the story, and they were dying laughing going, oh my god i'm stealing this but because i think everybody does it they have their own version of it yeah a lot of people are probably thinking it's dirty it's not dirty it's not dirty at all

00:12:05 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 2:

no so over the weekend uh my schedule is crazy right now with all sorts of stuff i had a lacrosse game for lucy whatever lacrosse game for smith swimming so many things i came home and i made some food and i poured a glass of wine i was the only one at home at this point and i decided to FaceTime with my dad because he had texted me that he had just finished yard work for the day and he was also just sitting having a drink in his basement bar which is legendary by the way so we're on FaceTime we end up chatting for a good hour hour and a half it's truly one of my favorite memories with him now ever it was a great conversation he said something during the call though that at first I did not understand and he said it when at one point in the conversation I said hey I'm gonna have to go here soon because Wes is about to get home from a track meet and I wanted to at least get a few things done or make it look like I had gotten a few things done before Wes came home and my dad said oh you need to spread the sawdust huh and I was like this is not registering to me so he tells me this story about how when he and my stepmom started dating he would go sit at his favorite bar in the whole entire world, Dunleavy's in Allen Park, from like 1 to 4 p.m. He'd go, he'd sit at the bar, he'd play Kino, he'd have a couple of beers. And then when he knew my stepmom was about to come home, he would go home, throw around a few scrap pieces of wood around his garage, take out his saw, and literally spread sawdust in the area around his saw. so when my stepmom Chris came home he would be like oh I've been I've been cutting wood all day for various projects nothing was fitting so you know it didn't I didn't really get much done but it looked like he did because he had spread the sawdust and I about died because I'm like it's I feel like we all do that not necessarily with a saw and two by fours and sawdust but we all there There have been instances where we all have been doing nothing, laying on the couch or in bed, and then your family comes home

00:14:16 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 1:

or somebody comes home.

00:14:16 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

And you need to make it look like you did something. So, by the way, he dared me to say the phrase on the air, so, Dad, I win.

00:14:22 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

00:14:22 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know why you owe me. We should have bet something.

00:14:24 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell your dad that I told a bunch of my friends, but one of my friends, Ronnie, says that he thinks now that his wife doesn't do loads of laundry all day. She just puts out the clothes and the laundry in piles. like she's hanging out that was actually pretty funny because that was his thing he goes i think my wife doesn't do laundry now i'm thinking i come home and she's got laundry all over the place she does a good job of making it look like she did 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what is your spread the sawdust what is your thing that you do as to show so

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 2:

the people or person that you live with that you're not just on your ass all day doing nothing

00:15:04 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

even though you're on your ass all this just happened a lot when i was younger living with my mom she was like i'm i'm coming home when she pulling that driveway all of a sudden i'd be bringing out the trash i might wash like literally one dish and be in there like hey how's it going trying to make myself look busy be on the phone all of a sudden quote unquote handling business not even talking to anybody but giving her the sign with the one finger while the phone in my ear like hold on one second hold on a phone

00:15:33 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 2:

do you remember did your mom ever do like room checks like where she would go check and see if you picked up your room

00:15:38 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 1:

my room was always dirty I can't even lie

00:15:41 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 2:

it was the best

00:15:42 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 1:

my room was dirty

00:15:43 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 2:

the best was under the bed we used to pray my mom never looked under the bed there's probably somebody living under our bed we had so much crap under the bed Kim what's going on it's Mojo in the morning hey

00:15:53 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 6:

bye

00:15:54 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

What's your spread the sawdust?

00:15:55 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 6:

I just had a spread the sawdust story. Yeah. Okay, so when I was in high school, we each had chores, and I had to always do the dishes. And I always wanted to get home from school and watch General Hospital. And I went to school in the 90s, so we didn't have all that where I could watch it later and everything. So I had to watch it when I got home.

00:16:13 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 2:

There was no Hulu back then.

00:16:15 - 00:16:15 | Unknown:

No Hulu.

00:16:16 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 6:

Right. So I would get the water in the sink, and I'd do a couple and put them in the rack, you know, so it looked like I'd been doing them. and then I'd go watch the show. But when I see my mom home in the driveway, I would go run back in the kitchen and it looked like I had been doing them. I love it. Yeah, that's good.

00:16:32 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 2:

I love it. By the way, my sisters made me watch ABC soap operas. I watched all my children in General Hospital religiously as a kid growing up. Yeah, so I get it. I'm right there with you, Kim.

00:16:44 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 7:

I know, but I can't even stand them now.

00:16:46 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Seriously, I haven't checked them out in the longest time. I don't even know if they're on. Are there soap operas still? What's up, Amanda? Hi. Oh, yeah, Stephen A. Smith on one.

00:16:53 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 5:

Hi. What's going on? When I was married to my first husband, he was a teacher, and so he was very particular about the ironing on his shirts and that everything was really crisp. And so I would say how long it would take me, and I would take his shirts to the dry cleaners, and then I would pick them up and take them, like I'd bring them home and unbun them and take everything off of them and shake them a little bit so it looked like I had done it, and then I'd tell him I was ironing all day. Oh, my God, that is so great.

00:17:22 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Did you ever forget to take off that white little nub tag that's on there that they put on?

00:17:26 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 5:

With a safety pin?

00:17:27 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:17:28 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 5:

No, because they keep it on, right? Or like you always have one. So he knew that every so often I would take them in.

00:17:34 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Oh, that's good. What a great story. Amanda, that's awesome. Angie, what's going on?

00:17:41 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 7:

Hey there. Spread the sawdust. Yeah, so what I do is before kids get home from school and I don't really want to cook a big dinner, I will fill the sinks up or the tub or whichever with bleach water to smell like I've been cleaning all day and we're just ordering pizza tonight.

00:17:59 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 2:

So it looks like and smells like there's cleaning going on in there, but really, it's a, I don't know, a Jets night. We're going to get some Jets with a little extra ranch.

00:18:09 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Shout out to Jets.

00:18:10 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 2:

That's great. Noah, what's going on? How you doing?

00:18:14 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. So I have a story. Sometimes my wife works at the hospital, and sometimes she has to work during weekends. We have a son. He's eight months old, and sometimes I'll, like, take, like, a clean diaper, put it under the sink so it gets, like, nice and full, and then I'll wrap it up and put it in the trash.

00:18:36 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 1:

That's insane.

00:18:37 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 3:

So when she comes home, I'll, like, open up the trash can and be like, man, he was kind of, he had a lot of bowel movement.

00:18:46 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 2:

insane bro that's dirty no i'm sorry does she listen to our show no no i'm the only one good

00:18:55 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 7:

i'm hoping for your safety that's insane mckenzie what's going on it's mojo in the morning

00:19:03 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 4:

hi first time long time um i had texted in um i love to cook my husband knows i'm not a bad cook But some days I just am not feeling dinner. So I'll take out, like, a 13-by-9-inch pan and dirty her up and set it in the sink. So by the time he gets home, I'm like, I tried. I'm like, it's just a rough day. Like, dinner did not turn out good. And she'll be like, that's okay. Why don't we just go out to eat? That's great.

00:19:33 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 2:

That's so good. This is sneaky. That's so good. This is not right. These are all the best. I love you. I love that one. That one and the diaper one are the two best. Those are so good. Thank you for the call. Logan, this is a great one. Logan had one when his parents would want him to do chores. What's up, Logan?

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, first time long time.

00:20:00 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 2:

So, my parents gave me $20 lunch money every week. That's back when you could afford lunch five days a week with $20. Yeah, right. So, I never used it for lunch. I actually was supposed to mow the lawn once a week. I always gave that $20 to a neighbor kid. And he mowed the lawn for me. Imagine. So, I could just sit inside and play video games. You know why you are?

00:20:24 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:20:25 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 5:

You are the Bill Gates, the Elon Musk, the Mark Zuckerberg. hey you know what that's a smart guy right there that's awesome thank you thank you for the call i love it and one last one katrina what's up katrina hey mojo good morning okay listen nothing

00:20:42 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 1:

against my husband he's a hard worker never never ever complains about food or anything but there's days where i'm like over it i don't want to cook i'm running errands so what i do i go to like a restaurant i get like a whole chicken that's done i get a salad i get mashed potatoes whatever it is I come home, put the chicken in the oven, put the salad in the bowl. As if when he comes home, I just get everything from scratch, like scratch. And he's like, oh, it smells so good. I'm like, I know I just got out of the oven.

00:21:07 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I'm not mad at that. Oh, yeah. Katrina, that is.

00:21:13 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 6:

What?

00:21:13 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 5:

That is the.

00:21:14 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. Wes wishes I did that instead of actually cooked.

00:21:17 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 5:

You are food unfaithful to your husband. That's awful.

00:21:21 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm an amazing cook. This happens once in a while, okay? Yeah. No, that's good. That's fine. You can taste a different.

00:21:27 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that is really good. You can't do it, by the way, you can't do it with fish because you cannot heat fish back up.

00:21:31 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, no, no. I would never do that. The whole chicken is the only thing that I ever did.

00:21:34 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a good one. All right, thanks for the call. Appreciate it.

00:21:37 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 3:

Cheating is a choice, not a mistake. Don't be fooled. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. Cheating is a choice. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 7.40 on Mojo in the Morning. Let's go! Now, back to Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:59 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 5:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. I have no idea where this topic came from, but we got Zach over here. Exactly. He got a topic on the board today. Yeah. Give it to Zach. Let's go, Zach.

00:22:11 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. We got a topic on the board.

00:22:14 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 5:

Super pumped. And this topic is an interesting one because I'm reading this going, I have no idea where this came from. Well, stranded on a desert island. Yes.

00:22:22 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

I've been watching a lot of Survivor lately, like a lot. Really? Is Survivor still on? It's Survivor. What are they saying? I've never watched Survivor. Season 48. 48. Two more until 50. It's going to be crazy. Anyway, my God, let me see. They get off the island, don't they? They might. They might. I don't know yet. So basically, I'm watching it and I'm like, I don't know anyone on the show that I would really want to be stranded on an island with. You talking about our show? Oh, yeah. Okay. But there are two that I would pick if I have to. Do you want me to lay it down? No, not yet.

00:23:00 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 5:

No, I want to think about this for a second. Okay. So if we're going to be on an island. Yeah, like I'm going to say a plane crash. Okay. And we're stuck on an island. Did you ever watch that old show Lost? That show was crazy.

00:23:12 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen that. No.

00:23:14 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 5:

Lost was crazy. Yeah. So we're all on the island together. Yep. And it's, there's only two out of the one, two, three, four, five, six. How many do we have? Seven, six, seven. How are you going to count and then say how many we have? You just count it. I don't know.

00:23:28 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, but he's including Lydia and maybe Tony.

00:23:30 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So there's only Tony. I thought Tony was going to be my sleeper. I wasn't going to bring that up. There's only two that you're going to choose, that you're going to choose to be with. And which two are you going to choose to be with?

00:23:44 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, without Tony involved, I would definitely pick Shannon and Lydia.

00:23:49 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really?

00:23:50 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Okay, why? Okay, I'll tell you the reasons why I wouldn't pick you guys. Don't even go anywhere.

00:23:58 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 5:

He's done with the topic. He's done with the topic. No, dude, I... You got one on. Nobody's taking you. You're choosing two people. You're just sad that I didn't pick you. No, no, no. You're on an island. You don't need... Wait, let me explain this up. Yeah, yeah. All right, go ahead.

00:24:12 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 4:

I know that Lydia and Shannon are going to help me make a fire, get food provided. Okay, I'm going to do a nevermind. Bull crap.

00:24:21 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, I don't know about making a fire.

00:24:23 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 5:

The only thing Shannon's going to be able to make is if Restoration Hardware has something that's actually going to help her with.

00:24:28 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 6:

I don't like that store. It's too expensive for me.

00:24:31 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, bull crap.

00:24:32 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 6:

Love you, buddy, but too much credit there.

00:24:34 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 4:

No, dude, I know that you would actually help with the camp.

00:24:37 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 6:

That I would do. Yeah.

00:24:39 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 3:

I would make it cozy.

00:24:41 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. With Bianca, though, like, she's present, but she's not present. Bro, don't say anything. I did nothing to you. With Mojo, I don't know if he can lift up a stick with only one hand. Listen. You know what I'm saying? I would have two arms by that time.

00:24:53 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 5:

By that time.

00:24:55 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 4:

You have to source materials.

00:24:57 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 5:

What a dumb, stupid topic this is. So fun. Are you feeling it cozy like there's going to be a HomeGoods down the street? This isn't glamping. You know what? I would make it comfy for you. I'm sorry, Lydia. If I'm stuck there, it's happening.

00:25:10 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

Don't call the pot. Hello, pot. This is Kettle. I'm Lydia. There's no hall road full of stores that you like to go to, too.

00:25:18 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 1:

And I can attest to that 100%.

00:25:20 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't. First off, let me say this to you. I'd choose Kevin because his car has everything we want in there with all the crap that's in it.

00:25:28 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 5:

We need to take Tony out of the equation because every single one of us would pick Tony. He's so resourceful. He could build anything out of anything.

00:25:36 - 00:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you this guy, Tony Travato. The guy is unbelievable. He gets mad at me. We had a pipe burst in our house, and then we had a water heater issue right afterwards. The guy's mad that I didn't call him up to fix it. He's my boss, not my plumber. You know what I mean? He was all crazy about it. He fixes and does all this stuff himself. It's insane. But I'm excited to be able, I'm going to his son's graduation party, and I'm excited to go to his son's graduation party so I can look around the house and see how many things he has not finished yet in that entire house. Because I know his wife complains, Brooke says to me all the time, she's like, he starts something, and then he has like eight or nine things that he has to do, and he doesn't finish it. So if you're on the island, you're going to be on there for a while.

00:26:18 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 4:

That's my question. Is this to get off the island, or is this to enjoy however long I'm going to be on the island?

00:26:24 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 2:

My thought process was, like, a week, but you don't know that you're going to be there for just a week. Like, mentally, you're preparing for, like, a long time.

00:26:32 - 00:26:38 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, don't pick me because I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. Well, come on. Why do you say that? Because I'm going to need to have sex with somebody.

00:26:41 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 4:

And for those reasons, I'm out.

00:26:43 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 2:

We're going to be there forever.

00:26:45 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second.

00:26:45 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to have one girl. So Shannon and Lydia have fun. No. I was just saying.

00:26:51 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 4:

We got to have.

00:26:52 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 3:

And that's why I brought Shannon and Lydia.

00:26:53 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 4:

that's the real reason Zach don't give a damn about now I'm happy not me to tell you

00:27:01 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 3:

Zach would be like come over here big boy by the way I did this game with Kevin yesterday but I can't tell you guys I did this game with him when we were driving in the car yesterday but it wasn't the survivor thing it was out of these three people who would you have sex with and it was the and we did it with people that we work with and his answers, and I won't say any of them because HR would totally go crazy on it. His answers were wild. They weren't even close to what I would thought he would chose.

00:27:30 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't think that, what made them wild?

00:27:32 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 3:

It was just wild out of the blue.

00:27:33 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 5:

Because they weren't what he would pick.

00:27:35 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Like I threw, well no, I threw three names out there. I threw like a salesperson's name. I threw somebody from one of the other radio stations. I put somebody from the show. Safe to say he didn't pick the person from the show.

00:27:45 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's weird. We're all friends.

00:27:49 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 3:

But the person that he picked, the other people that he picked were interesting. But let's go back to Zach and the Survivor. Oh, man. Who would you pick? To be on the island with? Yeah. None of you bastards. I would choose not on the island. Come on, man. I'd rather be alone. Okay, I'll tell you what. Can we do it in a different way? If I had to go and shop for Chelsea for Valentine's Day, I'd probably choose Shannon or Lydia to go with me shopping. You wouldn't pick me? I wouldn't choose you. You're insane. What are you going to go want to get?

00:28:19 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea loves me, and I love Chelsea.

00:28:20 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 3:

I know she does. I get something amazing. You get something crazy. I don't know.

00:28:23 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 4:

I get something amazing.

00:28:25 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

Or how about this? Okay, here you go. Instead of on a deserted island. Is it a deserted or a desert island? Which one is it? I feel like deserted gets deserted. Is it?

00:28:32 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 4:

I like that.

00:28:33 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, if it were at Somerset Collection.

00:28:39 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Same thing, same thing. Who would you choose? I'm taking you and Shannon.

00:28:42 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Or a Friday night going out for a nice dinner. Like, who are you going to choose? Can we do it that way instead of the island thing? Yeah. Okay, for dinner, I would pick Mojo and Kevin. We're all picking Mojo. All right.

00:28:55 - 00:28:55 | Unknown:

Exactly.

00:28:56 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 3:

But honestly, like, if it were hanging out in East Lansing, I'd pick probably Bianca. Because she knows all the party bars. That's true. If I was with Bianca on Dad's Day instead of Luke on Dad's Day, I wouldn't have fell down the stairs. That's probably true. She would have cared for me so much. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Rick wants to make a comment. What's up, Rick?

00:29:17 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. First time on time.

00:29:19 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we're so many today. Sticky Ricky.

00:29:22 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 3:

We're all on the island together, Rick. What are your thoughts?

00:29:25 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 1:

So I think Zach's got a plan here. He's trying to build a multicultural brand-new population with Lydia and Indiana. Exactly. He's trying to sneak it in. He's trying to sneak it in.

00:29:37 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny is I was thinking of this because I used to watch The Walking Dead, and it was wild on The Walking Dead how these people all survived together, but then eventually they start banging each other, and they start doing that thing.

00:29:47 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for sure. It's got to happen. I didn't watch it that far.

00:29:49 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 3:

All right, here's a question for you. If this was, instead of Survivor, Rick, if this was The Walking Dead, which show member would you eat and which show member would you eat?

00:29:58 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, zombie time.

00:30:00 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

And don't say me because I'm fat, man. Well, see, it would last a while. Bastard.

00:30:11 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 5:

How hungry am I?

00:30:12 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Shelly? Hi, how you doing?

00:30:14 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 5:

All right, so Lydia asked me who I would pick for an island, and this is what I said. I would take Lydia or Kevin because I want to be with somebody with a pure heart for Jesus. Come on now. Because that's the only way anybody's surviving that island. Dang. Hallelujah. We're not thinking right there. No one's getting off the island without the Lord. All right.

00:30:36 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to get baptized. We don't consecrate. I wouldn't consecrate. In that case, I wouldn't choose Zach, because he's got dirty thoughts in his head. Oh, come on. Just don't describe it. What's going on, Corey? Hi.

00:30:50 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I was just calling. Is Mike an option to bring on the island? You know what? That's a good one. That would be a great one, actually. Yes, Mike is an option. I'll tell you, Mike.

00:30:57 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 2:

Mike and Tony Travato. Those would be the guys. Does Mike carry a Swiss Army knife? You know what? I don't think he needs it. He can make a knife out of a stick. With his bare hands. Not chew it up. Actually, I have a weird feeling about Mike. And you guys tell me if I'm wrong on this one. I think that they do kind of almost a little bit of glamping, too. Like, I've seen the camper. No, they glamp for sure. But I think that Mike, honestly, is not the guy's guy that he makes himself out to be. Like, I think he gets freaked out by bugs and stuff, and Allie kills all the bugs.

00:31:29 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 3:

He has coordinated outfits for his camping trips.

00:31:33 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay, he's definitely not the camping guy.

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 4:

But still, they're outfits.

00:31:37 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 2:

That's true. Yeah. I don't know. Rachel, what are your thoughts on this, Rachel?

00:31:40 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 3:

So, if I were on an island, I would pick two. I would pick Shannon because she would think clearly on how to get off the island. It's true. It's true. I would pick Mojo because Shannon and I were going to have to eat something.

00:31:54 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 2:

And it's enough to go around By the way That is extremely dirty that you would think That you would want to eat me Which body part would you start with? Thighs No, his arms

00:32:08 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 6:

Now we're talking

00:32:12 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 2:

Now I want to be on the hill I want to get my thighs eaten by you guys

00:32:16 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 6:

Where's the bite sound That Flintstone's bite Go on

00:32:21 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 2:

I mean, actually, no, I'm a bigger guy. It's a bigger. Christina, what's going on? Good morning. Hi, Christina.

00:32:32 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 3:

So I would definitely not pick Kevin to go shopping for anything. Why? I love you. Because for your birthday, you wanted some chicks to buy you some gold and clothes. Yes. I'm with you. It's my birthday.

00:32:46 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm allowed to do crazy things. This guy.

00:32:49 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 5:

No, no. I'm good. I'm good.

00:32:50 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 2:

thanks christina hey erica what's going on how are ya good uh first and foremost i want to say

00:33:00 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 4:

that i'm calling from belgium so you don't also have uh french supporters is that germany where is belgium is it germany belgium i know we beat him in the olympics connected to france is it okay

00:33:14 - 00:33:19 | Speaker 2:

so belgium is its own country right correct okay good all right man i'm not good at this stuff

00:33:19 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 4:

I thought we were all looking at each other in the face. By the way, don't ask me.

00:33:22 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea. Somebody was telling me, I told somebody the other day, I go, I want to go to Dubai, and they go, where is it? I go, it's in the Middle East somewhere. And they're like, what's it next to? I go, I have no clue. I just heard it looks like a great place. What's going on, Erica?

00:33:34 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 4:

So if I were, you know, to be stuck in an island, I would think long term, so I would pick Shannon. And then I would also pick Kevin Blaine. Stop for a second. You can't just say that. Just let her have her pick. No. He's so mad.

00:33:45 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 2:

What is your reasoning? She sounds like she's a smart person, but do we really think that she's actually that resourceful? I mean, let's call Wes up. I think Wes is the guy that does the resourceful stuff. She knows how to go shop at Costco for a trip out of town in Zagatog. She says she had two people. Maybe you're her second option. Who's your second option?

00:34:04 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 4:

Kevin.

00:34:05 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 2:

There we go.

00:34:06 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 4:

I like this topic. I like this topic. Long term, you have to procreate, you know? Oh, yeah. She's been out there for a really long time.

00:34:16 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 2:

No, no, I know why she's doing this. You're doing this. You're picking Kevin because in all the movies, the black guy dies first. I'm her sacrifice.

00:34:28 - 00:34:29 | Unknown:

Not at all.

00:34:30 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 2:

We got to get to Belgium. First time, long time. By the way, when you procreate and start eating his thighs, he's got some thighs. I wanted to start with another buddy. Thanks, Erica. Appreciate you.

00:34:42 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Love you.

00:34:42 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Love you all.

00:34:44 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Yep, you're on the way into work, or you'll have to pretend to care about what the annoying co-worker says. If there are no annoying co-workers, you might be the, well, never mind. It's Mojo in the morning.

00:35:00 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 3:

Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. WVKS, Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:35:07 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:35:09 - 00:36:06 | Speaker 3:

Live. To lighten the mood just a little bit, although this was really not a lighten the mood type of a situation, it got a little bit crazy. Did I tell you guys a story about my friend? I won't say his name, but did I tell you a story about my friend who had somebody very, very nice make him some cookies? and the cookies were delicious the problem was the fact that when he got the big bag of cookies from the friends that said hey i just wanted to give you these cookies as you know kind of a way to make your you feel better because he was kind of you know dealing with a little bit of stuff uh as a pick me up he brought them home to share with his entire family not asking his friends if the cookies contained any kind of, I was going to say illegal, it is legal now, legal narcotic, but a narcotic inside. My buddy got pot cookies.

00:36:06 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 2:

Shut the front door.

00:36:07 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 3:

Not realizing they were pot cookies and then gave them to his family or put them on the counter at his house, to which his wife and his kids all tried.

00:36:18 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh.

00:36:20 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 3:

And then they started feeling something because he didn't try any of the cookies yet. And they started feeling something and then called him up and said, oh, my God, there's something in these cookies. Has that ever happened to anybody? Because it happened to him. Well, and then worse is when it happens and it's your child that tries it, right? That's the craziest part. Yeah. And one of your kids tries it. Because I'm not going to say that these people are out of the ordinary. If you or I brought cookies home.

00:36:46 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my kids would go to town.

00:36:47 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 3:

I mean, seriously, I'd have five cookies in there. And that's one of those ones where you don't want five cookies if you've ever had pot cookies.

00:36:53 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 2:

Were the kids okay?

00:36:54 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, eventually they are, and that's the only reason, and that's the reason why I bring it up. I wouldn't bring it up if it was so bad, and obviously I'm keeping it anonymous because they don't want to tell the person's business without them being okay with it, but yeah, and this is wild, and I don't know if you guys have ever experienced somebody get high and not realizing it. We did it with our dog. We didn't, remember that story where Henry got a hold of Jed's weed pen?

00:37:24 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, yes.

00:37:26 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 3:

That was the funniest videos on Instagram. My favorite moment of that entire, we had to take him to the, Henry's our dog, by the way, not our child. We had to take him to the emergency vet, which is like $8 billion to go in there just for one visit. And the best was when the doctors called out to the waiting room and said, are Henry's parents here? And Chelsea and I pop right up, and the person says from, they don't have HIPAA, I guess, with dogs. They say from the time, do you guys have pot at home? No. Oh, my God. This happened with my dad.

00:37:57 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah, my sister gave my dad, this was a few years ago, gave my dad like a Ziploc baggie full of pretzel nuggets. And either didn't tell him that they were pot pretzels or he just didn't hear her when she told him. He ate the bag and then went outside and mowed his lawn and then figured out what had happened. And he was sending us pictures of the lawn was like zigzag. He's like, I knew something was wrong.

00:38:27 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm leery of all snacks in Ziploc bags. Like, if it's in a baggie, then we got to talk about it. But it's from your kid. If it's the baggie you roll up in, that's a whole different situation. How many times have we had people bring food in to us here? I'm telling you, we're going to get drugged one day. You got to tell people if you put drugs and stuff, though. You can't just put drug cookies on the table. Right? I'm on drugs!

00:38:47 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, think of all the candy that cute little shop dropped off the other day. That is a fact. We gave them a shout out, and I thought, could you imagine if this was... It was all edibles, and we were shoving our faces with it.

00:38:57 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 3:

If you see me rubbing the wall, I just know something happened. By the way, I want to see Tim Murphy stoned. I'm not joking. Ask him about it. I want to see that.

00:39:05 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 1:

He still talks about it.

00:39:07 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 3:

Danielle, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:39:10 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo. I was cleaning my daughter's room, and she was her first year in college, and I was just picking up some dirty clothes, and she had a bag of gummy Lifesavers in there. So I popped a few in my mouth. I was going about, I popped a few more in my mouth and did not realize that they were cannabis gummies until about a half hour later when I was talking to my mother-in-law on the phone. And then all of a sudden I became incoherent when I was talking to her to hang up and ran downstairs to my husband and said, oh my God, I think these are pot gummies.

00:39:48 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 3:

You were struggling a little bit, weren't you?

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I was hugely on the struggle bus, and had I not experienced it before.

00:40:00 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 2:

I would have probably taken myself to the hospital.

00:40:04 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. By the way, your mother-in-law must have loved that conversation.

00:40:10 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, thank God my mother-in-law is very hard of hearing, so I was able to get off the conversation fast.

00:40:15 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 5:

That's great.

00:40:16 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 2:

This was about 6.30 in the afternoon, and when I told my husband, his first response was, why would you take candy from your kids' room? She had to tell me if I'm right. If there's candy, as a parent, you just eat it sometimes.

00:40:29 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 6:

If it's there you just grab it Candy from a baby What's up Lindsay

00:40:34 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey First time long time Hey Lindsay on the phone

00:40:39 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 5:

I love it

00:40:42 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 2:

What's going on I was Drugged with fudge weed brownies On Christmas day

00:40:51 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 5:

Who made the fudge weed brownies

00:40:54 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

She picked them up At a store didn't tell us there was weed in it and we were playing Monopoly and she brought it out and asked if we wanted fudge and I said, of course, it's Christmas.

00:41:05 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 5:

By the way, speaking of fudge, you know what would be the greatest thing ever? To be on Mackinac Island stoned with all that fudge that's on that island. Oh my god, it would be amazing.

00:41:15 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 6:

That would be the greatest Christmas prank. How parents love to like play well, not play, but you know if that person... Like Jimmy Kimmel pranks come along and the kids help bake cookies for santa you just put a little something in there yeah see how kids react that would give me a little

00:41:30 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 3:

extra ho ho ho what's up d hey so i had some i had ate a whole um we we chocolate ate a whole candy bar and i ended up crossing the train track um where you're not supposed to cross

00:41:45 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 6:

my car got stuck dog the best no no are you joking did you get the car on before

00:41:54 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 3:

No, it was an abandoned track, so there was no train. But, yeah, I ended up having to call Toastuck, and he pulled me out.

00:42:04 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Wow. You know what? Did he know you were high as a kite?

00:42:09 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. He thought I was crazy, but I don't know.

00:42:12 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 5:

You should be calling us up in about an hour from now when we do our Wiz Khalifa contest. That might actually win you a prize. Courtney, what's going on?

00:42:20 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 1:

hey a few years ago my brother made weed cake pops and brought them to the family thanksgiving and he didn't tell anybody except for one cousin and then i had to make sure we brought extra for

00:42:34 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 6:

all the kids oh god did he sit back and just watch or did he indulge as well

00:42:41 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 1:

oh he was laughing the whole time and that's how somebody knew that something was up

00:42:45 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 5:

you know what's funny though you gotta tell somebody you you're gonna especially with kids and things like that you never know if if they're that's why we have the buffer person like we when we have like people come over to our house they'll always say this is the adult table this is the kid table and i'm like we're not doing adult kid stuff because the problem is the kids will always eat off the adult table they're gonna go right to it off the kids table Exactly. Freddie, what's going on?

00:43:14 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Long, long time, first time caller. What's up, Freddie?

00:43:21 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 5:

Where are you from, Freddie?

00:43:23 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 4:

I am in Shelby Township. Nice to talk to you, buddy. What's going on? So one year, my cousin brought over Lace Krispy Kreme. Not Krispy Kreme. Rice Krispy Trees. Rice Krispy Trees, yes. Yes, I had some saved, and my mom just had surgery on her shoulder, and she was going through some stuff, emotional stuff, and I was like, man, my mom needs to relax. If I can only sneak some for her. So she took a big bite, and I'm like, perfect. Well, it started kicking in. Do you guys know the Facebook portal that's in, like, the kitchen where you can talk to people from, like, Facebook Messenger and it follows you around? No.

00:44:04 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what? What is it, like an Alexa or something? Is that a portal?

00:44:08 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 4:

It's a huge, like, 12-inch screen that you can plug into your kitchen or anywhere. Okay. And you can connect your Facebook and YouTube and everything. I have never heard of that before.

00:44:18 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:44:19 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's called Facebook Portal. She got it as a birthday gift.

00:44:22 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:44:22 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 4:

And it follows you around when you're in the kitchen. So if you're talking to family members on, like, Facebook Messenger video, it follows you around or follows your voice so that you can hands-free do stuff while you're talking. Okay, cool. My mom was talking to then my fiancé, and it kicked in, and my mom just zoned out staring at her, and she screamed. She thought my fiancé jumped out of the portal. She started running around the house thinking that my fiancé was here from overseas. Oh, that's good.

00:45:00 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 7:

Calm her down, give her water, and I threw her in the guest bedroom. She passed out, woke up like a zombie, fiending for food. Oh, my goodness. Have you ever, by the way, been that high that you started talking to your TV like it was a human? Oh, it's the best. That is a great story, Freddie. I love that story. Hold on. Anna, are you there, Anna? Yeah, I'm here. Hi, Anna. What's going on?

00:45:24 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, my husband went golfing and used my lunchbox. And when I went to work at a school, I ate my lunch and whatever. It was all great. On the way home, I was like, oh, I'm still hungry. So I thought there was a Ghirardelli chocolate inside of the bag. And so I ate it. Subsequently, in my hour ride home, I called him and said that someone had roofied me. And he, yeah, it was, I would never have consumed that. But, yeah, he thought it was hysterical.

00:45:58 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. And, again, this was a chocolate that was – how did you get that chocolate?

00:46:04 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

He went to play golf, and he put it in his bag. Oh, jeez. I didn't know it was still in there, and I didn't know it was even in there. So I was reaching around and went, oh, yeah, Ciro Daly chocolate. Who's not going to eat that? I don't know right home.

00:46:18 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 7:

Somebody needs to explain to me because I love golfing with friends. I have friends that golf high. How do you golf high? I can't even golf completely sober. And these guys will golf with like tons of weed in their system or they use those, you know, nicotine things like the Zins and stuff like that.

00:46:38 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 6:

It probably makes you focus. It makes you lock in a little bit. Like there are basketball players and Kevin Durant, one of the greatest players in the world right now. He plays high. He actively talks about, well, there's not a marijuana clause in the NBA anymore. A lot of these guys, like, it allows you to focus. Wow. I would be like. The opposite. In the stands, eating guys' popcorn.

00:46:58 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 7:

We all know what you look like when you're eating popcorn.

00:47:03 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 4:

00:48:58 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 7:

the morning show this is uh where it all starts is where it all begins the honeymoon has worn off for shannon and wes in their relationship with each other because you're being funny no

00:49:09 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 3:

this is i'm not being funny i'm being serious my feelings are so hurt did i miss something

00:49:12 - 00:49:19 | Speaker 6:

wes does not want to sleep with me anymore wow what did you do what happened he said that he

00:49:19 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 3:

has been getting zero sleep lately and he's been going into work a zombie because of a few different things he said that I toss and turn all night and throw the covers on and off and go back and forth between being boiling hot and freezing cold hello cougar puberty puberty as I now call it aka peri menopause and then two he said the dogs are really annoying in the morning when I'm getting ready and the clickety-clack of their nails and they want to come up in bed or my my oldest dog charlie just follows me around and whines if he can't see where i am and he's like it's just too

00:50:00 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 2:

much i'm getting maybe three three and a half hours of sleep and i can't do it anymore and so he said to me can i do i i'm thinking about sleeping in one of the other bedrooms because usually there's a bedroom that's free just based on if the kids are with you know they're if my kids are with andrew and if his kids are with his ex-wife there's always a free bedroom somewhere and i'm like you cannot do that we've only been married for a year well let me say this he is like shannon i'm desperate for sleep and it's just i can't do it anymore that's where the lights in

00:50:35 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 3:

the morning it's the blow dryer it starts with uh that and then next thing you know you guys are in separate rooms and then you guys uh you know aren't uh aren't together anymore then then well

00:50:47 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 2:

okay then then comes uh his mistress okay that's mean sophie i i said to him well last night he was like what if i lay in bed with you until you fall asleep and then just then he goes and he's

00:51:03 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 3:

sneaking out i'm like no um okay so what about could he could he do uh no could he no could he do it just monday or sunday through thursday so it so because you know there are many couples that i'm sure are listening right now that are separate bedroom people that's like a big thing now where

00:51:21 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 2:

people don't do that. I don't like that though. I don't like it either. I like sleeping right

00:51:25 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 3:

up next to him. None of that stuff you mentioned sounds preventable though. Yeah. It's hard to

00:51:31 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 2:

because our bathroom is in our bedroom and the door is like, if I open the door and the lights on his face is right there. That's how he sleeps. Is he a light sleeper? Huh? Um, not really. Can I

00:51:44 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 3:

give you some advice on this? And this is something that I think that, uh, would be helpful. Why don't you use a bathroom or a shower of one of the other bathrooms? So there's only we only have one other

00:51:55 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 2:

bathroom. Yeah. And it's in between the girls rooms. So that means then I would wake up either Lucy or Sam or both of them if they're both home. But don't you think that they're and I have to walk under sleepers? No, because the way that it is, I would have to open their doors and walk through their rooms to get into the bathroom. So that doesn't work. What about this one? What

00:52:13 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 3:

about here's an idea. You said this morning when we were talking on our pre-show meeting about this and you were kind of telling all of us about your conversation last night. You mentioned that you snooze in the morning. This is what got me to stop snoozing. One of the things, so, because it is tough for any significant others that we have as a morning show to have to deal with the hours that we wake up. And I used to set three alarms, and now I actually do the anticipation wake up, where I wake up at 3.30. I'll wake up and I'll hear or I'll feel like 329 before 330. And as soon as I look at that clock, I get up. So I don't hit that alarm.

00:52:52 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 2:

So today I didn't snooze because of this. Now I'm trying to do, we had this conversation yesterday. And so I was like, okay, I'm going to be so mindful. So this morning I woke up at my alarm and I got ready with all the lights off. I put the dogs downstairs right away, put the gate up so they couldn't come back upstairs. It sucked. It was so much work. I couldn't see. Look at what I'm wearing.

00:53:14 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 3:

I like, okay, no, I'm just funny.

00:53:17 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 2:

But I, and I also got here 30 minutes early.

00:53:22 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 3:

And this is all to keep your husband in the bed with you, which I think is important. Cause I'm telling you when Chelsea and I went to, when she went to a separate room from me and I, you know, cause I, I, by the way, I laid claim to the bedroom and I, by the way, suggest that you always do because legally it's a better place for you to be than in a guest room i uh will tell you that it's never we're going to do this for like a week this is months or years and you don't want that to ever happen no chanita what's going on what's going on

00:53:53 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 1:

look this how you fix that for real for real if you want west to stay in the bedroom with you this what you do you lock the door out of the room at night you go in the bathroom you wash your hair and you shut the door to the bathroom when you blow dry your hair i do and then that

00:54:09 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 2:

pictures like him? I do, I do.

00:54:11 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 1:

And he still tears the blow dryer? Yeah, I mean,

00:54:13 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 2:

when I say it's right, it's like four feet away from his head.

00:54:17 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 1:

The bathroom door. Okay, what about Charlie? Because you said Charlie's your baby. What if you shut Charlie out the door? I mean, the dog's out the room, because I've got dogs, so I know how they can be in the morning.

00:54:27 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so that's what I did this morning. And kept them downstairs after I let them out.

00:54:31 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 3:

What about putting Charlie down? Have you thought about that?

00:54:35 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 1:

No, don't do that. Mojo, you're cruel. Okay, so what if you blow dry your hair?

00:54:39 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 3:

She tried to drown Charlie this weekend, Shanita, if you missed that story.

00:54:42 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 1:

I know, I heard that. I heard that. I heard that. She did not. The dog jumped in a wet face.

00:54:47 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:54:47 - 00:55:07 | Speaker 2:

So even last night, I took my shower at night. I blow dried my hair last night. But I still have to get ready in the morning. So I'm still going in there, turning the light on, brushing my teeth, putting my, you know, doing all the things. I can't get around that. I don't know. Okay, but I know. I just feel bad. He doesn't really want to leave the room with you. It is what it is. I think you guys should come up with a soft compromise.

00:55:08 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 6:

I think this goes back to when Shannon was mad at Wes because he would sit next to her in bed as she's falling asleep, and he'd be on his computer, and she told him she didn't want him to do that. He still doesn't. And I think you've got to be able to compromise. He can have his computer there, and then you've got to deal with him early in the evening when you're going to bed, and he's got to then deal with you in the morning. Yeah. And this is compromise that couples go through. What's up, Liz?

00:55:35 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 1:

Shannon actually said what I was going to say was to blow dry your hair at night because I would be so mad if someone was in the morning.

00:55:44 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 7:

And quite honestly, the blow dryer wasn't even part of his argument because the blow dryer doesn't even make any noise that I have. So it was everything else.

00:55:55 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 6:

what uh what about this one uh is it cecily here with us yes hi how are you cecily actually brings up something interesting maybe west needs to wear some things to go to bed are you thinking

00:56:09 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 4:

air plugs or or maybe uh yeah wear like a mask or something not a mask but yes um earplugs when my daughter was born she was a newborn she was really colicky and so she was crying a lot at night and my husband and i both put in those like cheap little soft earplugs and it was enough to like mute but not totally drown out the sound so you could still be aware of like what was going on but it was a really good balance man he's supposed to be the protector of the house a burglar come in he's sound asleep with earplugs in i i have a dog i was not worried Shannon Dawes can't hear you.

00:56:52 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 6:

Nobody got to hear. Jessica, what's up?

00:56:56 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I've been also married for, like, a year. And my husband and I started sleeping in separate rooms, I want to say, about three months ago. Just because of my snoring. Or I toss and turn just as bad as what Shannon says. Like, I'm constantly moving around. And I also wake up like two hours before he does so I can get ready and go to work.

00:57:19 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 6:

Jessica, this is the far worse part of marriage. You're supposed to deal with that. He shouldn't be running out of the room.

00:57:25 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 5:

Well, I suggested it because I was like, because I also don't, I wake up and with his snoring and I will hit him and yell at him. And then he'll say, well, I don't do that to you. So why are you saying that to me? And we've actually, it's kind of prevented us from, like, getting in stupid arguments because we've been kind of happier from actually being able to sleep. And then he can actually go to work and not be tired.

00:57:51 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 6:

Explain the, you can hear it in her voice. What does that mean? She just sound like she got sleep apnea. Jessica, you sound like you're asleep apnea, Kevin says. Have you ever checked into that? You want to really ruin your life? Have to wear a CPAP machine at night. You'll never get laid after that.

00:58:08 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 5:

No, I think it's a little tickle in my throat right now, but that's kind of a little cold. But, you know, like on the weekends, we do sleep together just because we don't have anything going on on the weekend. Do you make up for lost time?

00:58:23 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 6:

Is it a fun night? Like, is romping all night in that bed? Romping.

00:58:27 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 5:

Not like all night, but yeah, I got to sometimes. Yeah, I like that.

00:58:32 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 6:

Maybe that is good. Amanda, hi, it's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Amanda?

00:58:37 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Shannon. You need to use like a red light bulb or a red lamp or like a red plug-in light because red light does not disrupt sleep.

00:58:47 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 6:

What does that do? The red light in the room?

00:58:51 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 2:

In the bathroom, yeah. Put a red light in the bathroom and it won't disrupt his sleep. It won't wake him up and you'll still be able to see fine.

00:58:58 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 6:

The neighbors are going to see the red light shine up there and they're going to think she's got a grow house going. Either that or devil worshiping. Tiffany brings up a great point, and Chelsea and I have this. Tiffany, what do you think?

00:59:14 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

I think she should get an eight-sleep mattress. She said she got to work 30 minutes early so she can do all her hair and makeup at work.

00:59:23 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 6:

Is it snooze?

00:59:26 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 7:

Snooze. I honestly got talked to them about this already. So I think we're going to do a mattress, a different mattress, where the temperature can be controlled on each side.

00:59:36 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 6:

So Chels and I have separate, the mattresses, and we have the adjusting and stuff like that. But so when I roll over, which I roll, I one time bounced her out of bed. Literally, like rolled over and bounced her out of bed. It was crazy.

00:59:50 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 7:

Like one of those trampolines on the lake. Exactly.

00:59:52 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

And so we ended up getting the separate mattresses. It is a game changer because he will not be able to feel you getting in and out of the bed.

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

Which is amazing. It's just a little tough to have sex in the middle. Tiffany.

01:00:03 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 1:

No, it's not a separate mattress. It's a mattress cover. Oh, well, it's a mattress cover. So you just put it over your mattress. Yeah.

01:00:09 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 3:

I would get separate mattresses for the temperature, too, though. I think the temperature thing.

01:00:13 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 1:

No, you don't need to with the eight sleep. You can control each side of the bed.

01:00:17 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 3:

We're plugging snooze mattresses. They spend a lot of money on this advertising here.

01:00:21 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 2:

They probably have that mattress cover. They do that? They have everything. Yeah.

01:00:24 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right. Well, I wish you well. in this one here.

01:00:31 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, sir.

01:00:32 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 3:

Don't leave the bedroom, though. I'm telling you.

01:00:35 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I wouldn't.

01:00:36 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea's still bitter towards me when she moved out of the room. She went down to the basement and she moved out of the room and then she's like, why did I have to go out of the room? I'm like, I wasn't going anywhere. But don't move out of the room. I don't suggest it. Now I'm going to go home and my stuff's going to be downstairs in the basement.

01:00:56 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 4:

It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:31 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 3:

The War of the Roses this morning. Is this a crazy coincidence, or do we have a cheater here? On the phone with us is Sarah. Sarah?

01:01:39 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

01:01:40 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 3:

Is this your husband that you think is cheating, or who is this?

01:01:44 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's my husband. We've been married for 13 years.

01:01:48 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and the interesting thing is you think he's cheating possibly with your co-worker?

01:01:53 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 1:

yeah um one of my co-workers is a woman that he used to date and that's been a really uncomfortable situation for me and i just recently heard from another co-worker they overheard this woman that he used to date talking about how she's seeing a new guy and she's really excited about it and

01:02:14 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 3:

i think it's my husband and it's the way that they described the relationship or you heard about the relationship everything sounds like your husband it does so this woman that he used to date was

01:02:31 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 1:

saying that her new boyfriend just got a new car and my husband just got a new car and she was saying it was a jeep and my husband's car is a jeep it just really sounds like him to me it's

01:02:41 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 3:

really interesting to think that you have to work with this person so not only is this going to be an awkward situation where you're going to be calling your husband up to see where he's going and a dozen free roses but you're also accusing a co-worker of cheating with your husband

01:02:55 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 1:

well the really hard part too is that he had cheated with her in the past this was like it was a few years ago and we worked through it we went to counseling um it made it extra hard for me to see her at work but i worked it out with my husband but he has cheated with her before and i that's why i just really feel like it started up again wow he doesn't work with you guys right he doesn't know just just his ex-girlfriend so he met this woman through you in your work they had dated before we got married and like i was always a little bit jealous kind of while we were talking about getting married but he said no it was all over it was finished and then um we moved and i got a new job and i started working with her and so we had contact with her again and i talked to him about at the time he told me not to worry about it but then

01:03:51 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 3:

he did end up cheating with her oh my gosh isn't that crazy uh we're going to be calling up your husband we're going to be seeing where he sends a dozen free roses we're hoping that the flowers go to sarah i want you to hang on the phone mute your phone and let us just do the call just to see where he sends them okay thank you all right don't say anything mute the phone here we go Okay.

01:04:28 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

01:04:29 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Hi, is this Paul?

01:04:31 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 4:

This is Paul.

01:04:32 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Paul. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm actually calling with an offer for some free flowers for you. do you have like less than 60 seconds to answer two survey questions we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be shipped out today to the person of your choice anywhere in the country totally free of charge to you um new business just try to get our name out there totally free Free? All right. I guess I do.

01:05:02 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Paul?

01:05:06 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:05:07 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 1:

Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

01:05:10 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 2:

No, probably not.

01:05:12 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 1:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. And so I'm going to go ahead and get some information about who you would like these to be sent to. So first and a last name to start.

01:05:30 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

um let's just say rose that's the first name that's the first name yeah we're sending the

01:05:39 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 1:

flowers to rose okay and what is rose's last name oh yeah just rose okay um what is rose's phone number? 248. Okay. And what is Rose's relationship to you? We're friends. Okay. And so it's okay that the roses are long stemmed red roses? Just making sure. Okay. Paul, we offer something unique at roses bloom.com and that is a digital voice card that will be texted to rose upon delivery she'll be able to play it know that she got some flowers and then listen to the message that you're going to leave to know who the flowers are from so this is just kind of in in place of a paper card it's a little bit more personal and kind of a nice touch that we think that we offer so i'm going to go ahead and record that with you right now okay i just uh i just say my message Yep. I'm going to count you down and you can make it as long as you want. It's just going to get saved as like a digital voice file and sent through text. Does that make sense? Okay. Okay. Here we go, Paul. Three, two, one.

01:07:03 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hope this puts a smile on your face.

01:07:07 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And she'll know your voice. You don't have to say from Paul.

01:07:12 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so.

01:07:13 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay, Paul. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training

01:07:17 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 2:

purposes are you okay with that um yeah i guess so great i have to be now don't i well i just needed that yes from you but yeah yeah yeah yeah paul i'm gonna tell you one last thing and then we're gonna send those flowers off okay so i'm just gonna jump on them off all right we will but real quick i just wanted to let you know that while you have been sending the flowers to rose your wife Sarah has been listening into this conversation and just heard every word that you just said how this is the mojo in the morning show and she called us up to see where you would send a dozen free roses and she just heard you send flowers to another woman is that the the co-worker Sarah Yeah That's her

01:08:18 - 01:08:21 | Unknown:

Wow

01:08:21 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 2:

It was kind of a friendly I don't know if it was romantic Thing that he said And he said she would know his voice So Yeah And again he doesn't work with you guys so he's obviously having interaction with her. Yeah, exactly. It's not like he talks to her every day. I mean, I guess he does, but not through work. All right, I want you to hang on the phone, okay? Okay.

01:08:56 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Busted again.

01:08:57 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 2:

We were both partaking, banging on the bathroom.

01:09:01 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 1:

It's your home for War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. Text the show anytime at 95500.

01:09:08 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 2:

This is Bojo in the morning. War of the Roses. A quick question on War of the Roses here. Just to throw this out there. Possibly a serial cheater. Possibly a guy that's gone back to this girl that he had once been in a relationship with before. how many times can this happen before you just say enough is enough maybe you've experienced this before but how many times did they cheat on you before you finally just said alright this is it you know I'm out of here 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 and another question I just wanted to throw out there how weird would it be to work with somebody that had a relationship with your husband? Like I was thinking about this here. She is in her indication or her, her thoughts of why she thinks that it could be her husband cheating is the story just sounds so similar. You know what I mean? Like everything about him, the car and you know, and all that stuff, the Jeep or whatever it was. Like at some point, how do you work with like, and he doesn't work in that office. Like, that's the part that's the weirdest thing, right? Like, if all of a sudden you had somebody that was coming in between you and your, you know, husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend, and then you find out that they get hired at your same company. Like, how do you deal with that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. 844-665-6548. Text is 95500 to get through to us. I feel bad for Sarah.

01:11:00 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 5:

I've, uh, well, I'll say this. I've known that a woman has cheated on me one time. And the reason why I say I know is because obviously it could happen with other relationships I've been in. But it only took that one time for me. I was in her bed. Something was like, look at her phone. I looked at her phone, seen the text messages. And I was like, man, take me home, bro. And that was it.

01:11:23 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 4:

see i let a guy t dummy over and over and over and over and over and over again why did you do it why do you think you did it like hindsight because yeah because i had hope that he would like it work through it and it would like get out of his system and then once we made a commitment to each other like we got it we ended up getting engaged and i thought that that would like so stupid like even talking about it now i was so stupid but i thought that he would change i'd hope

01:11:54 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 5:

that he would change i don't seem stupid to me though i couldn't work with him could you work

01:11:59 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 2:

with him could you work with the person that was cheating with uh with your uh your boyfriend

01:12:04 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 3:

hi hi what's happening so i sent a text and i said the wife sarah needs to lay hands on this co-worker it's crazy how do you sit in my face and talk about my man this my man that but you're talking about my husband that job must be paying her a whole lot of money because why would you want to work with the ex that he cheated with but today would be my last day working there well

01:12:32 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 2:

in and it seems like she was doing purposely you know knowing that sarah is you know married but Shannon

01:12:40 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 5:

but Shannon why do you put hands on her and not him he the problem

01:12:48 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 3:

he not exempt but the girl knew what she was doing this rose chick she knows exactly what she's doing and I think it's like diabolical that she is just yeah this is my man but you know that's the thing where they like oh don't go after the girl you only go after the girl when she knows and she is aware you're doing it on purpose you're trying to make me jealous and you're actively sleeping with my husband and you know that that's my husband but today be my last day working here he would be moving in with the girl and i would

01:13:26 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 4:

be looking for another job yeah the talking about it at work is so blatant because you know that it could be overheard you know it's going to get around that's just that's a blatant you're flaunting it yes yes thank you thank you shannon thank you for the call you're welcome bye guys

01:13:45 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 2:

sarah has he contacted you in in the time that we've talked

01:13:51 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 1:

um i mean yeah he just tried to dial in and i didn't pick up

01:13:58 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

i really don't want to talk to him right now when you guys had this happen before and you had to go through counseling. I can't imagine how hard that had to be. But was there ever a, hey, we need to not be working with this person or not in the same place with this person?

01:14:21 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 1:

He told me I was being paranoid. I was willing to leave the job. I thought this isn't something that I want in my face every day. And he told me that it was just a physical thing with her. I was being paranoid. I needed to calm down. So I kept my job. Yeah, so master manipulator. I made it pay as well. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.

01:14:45 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, I want you to hang on one second, okay? And we're going to take some calls from some listeners, and we're going to have you talk off the air with some of our people.

01:14:53 - 01:14:54 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:14:54 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:14:55 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Cassie.

01:14:56 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:14:57 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:15:00 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, I was with someone on and off a lot longer than I should have been. He cheated on me a lot, and we were married for three years. And even after that, for almost four, we were on and off, and we had a child together. I thankfully was finally smart enough to get out of there.

01:15:22 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Who was the woman he was cheating with, or were there multiple?

01:15:27 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 3:

There was multiple for a while. He claimed women, multiple women. And then after my son was born, I decided not if you are too worried about being with them and spend time with them and not our newborn child. Oh, yeah.

01:15:41 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 1:

So is he at least a parent in the picture?

01:15:45 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 3:

No, he's got a total of seven kids, and he doesn't see any single one of them.

01:15:50 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 1:

That had to be a hell of a father's day. What's going on, Courtney?

01:15:55 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

01:15:56 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on? Where are the roses? Comments.

01:15:59 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 5:

But I was saying that at the end of the day, his loyalty, the husband's loyalty is to Sarah, not to Rose. So I was agreeing with Shannon about putting hands on her. It really should be putting hands on him because he was the one that was supposed to, he gave his vow to her, not to, you know.

01:16:19 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's definitely the one that needs to be on the straight and narrow. That Rose girl is hoping that there's a crack in the foundation there that could get him away from that girl.

01:16:32 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 6:

But at this point, his loyalty is to himself. He's not loyal to either of them. And Rose probably get cheated on, too.

01:16:39 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, is she smart enough to realize that? Hey, Sarah wants to comment on Sarah. What's up, Sarah?

01:16:45 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Well, I just agree with the caller that said put hands on Rose. But I also agree with put hands on the husband. Need to put hands on both of them because they both knew.

01:16:54 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 1:

By the way, let's not even put hands on anybody just because I just don't want to get in trouble. I don't want anyone to catch a charge.

01:17:01 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 2:

Use a different phrase. Metaphorically, I guess, hypothetically, if she knew she is just as in the wrong in the husband, and it sounds like with the comments that she's making at work that she is absolutely aware and that she's kind of antagonizing Sarah by doing so because if you don't know and you're just playing it aloof then it's you know it's innocent she really doesn't mean anything by it but if she knows and she's just sitting there talking about my man my man my man got this knowing that it's all the same stuff that sarah's husband just got like yeah there's probably not a stupid person she's gonna put two and two together clearly because here we are i don't you know it's

01:17:39 - 01:17:58 | Speaker 1:

one of those things where they've got to work in a place that got a lot of people because if it worked in a place like ours where we all see each other every single day uh it would be tough to be able to go and see that person walking around the hallways Desiree had this happen we were talking about how many times can they cheat on you before you finally just had enough what's up Desiree

01:17:58 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 4:

hello good morning good morning um my kids there it was about about 20 different women oh lord and I struggled with it for the longest time and when I say women I mean back to back it was multiple and you know it sucks because the only way that I found out was having to go through your phone and if i have to do that then like my husband my current husband now says if you got to go through my phone it's time to go i haven't had that issue but during the the span of the relationship with their dad it was it was turmoil and i couldn't talk to anybody about it he had the weirdest narcissistic personality disorder that i can it's hard to to really put it in the words he was he was evil um he didn't really care about anybody's needs except his own and now with the children i think he has six and he's only been involved in one in one of their lives oh that's

01:18:53 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

so sad my children were two and uh four that's sad and you heard that caller earlier that said that they had to get seven i mean it's like it's unbelievable these guys yeah where do these guys

01:19:05 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 6:

well and where does it where is he meeting the these women where was he meeting all these girls

01:19:10 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 4:

At hotels, at their houses. When I first found out about the first cheating, I was a year into the relationship.

01:19:17 - 01:19:17 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:19:18 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 4:

And he told her that I was the maid. The maid. And this is before we even started having children. I was the maid. You can't afford a maid. How am I the maid?

01:19:28 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:19:29 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 4:

I never understood that. But he had a great way of talking women out of their drawers.

01:19:35 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 1:

Unreal. What's his first name? Don't say his last, but what's his first name?

01:19:39 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm a stadium. I don't care.

01:19:41 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

No, don't. Yeah, don't say his last name. I won't say his last name. His first name is Damien. Damien. Well, there you go. There you go. It's Damien, for God's sakes. The whole co-worker situation is an interesting one. Dealing with co-workers in a cheating situation, A says.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 3:

This is going on at their office. You had to deal with coworkers that were cheating on each other?

01:20:06 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So I had a coworker, and he had a girlfriend, but he was like the corporate office whore. And then I had a friend who was just like the married woman, stuck by her husband, was good. But one day she decided to give in to temptation, and they did it. And they were hanging out, and he whined and dined her. And then we, like, it was weird. We all had a bonfire, and she was there. They were acting like a couple. And then two days later, I had to choose sides on whose friend I was because it blew up because she caught feelings. And he went and messaged somebody else in the office, and she saw it, and she was just, like, so distraught. And I'm like, you're married, so what are you doing?

01:20:53 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 3:

What did it mess up more, the marriage or your office? Did people in the office get screwed up more? The office. The office. Isn't that wild? What kind of work did you guys do?

01:21:03 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 1:

We just, like, did corporate for an insurance company. So, like, we all sat next to each other. We had a close, like, friend group. We were all so cool.

01:21:13 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 3:

It's amazing. You would think that that would be kind of like a normal, tame job, but things get crazy, huh?

01:21:19 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then he just went and messed with a bunch of other women, and we would hear how, like, she hated it, and she was so disappointed. disappointed. And I told her, don't catch feelings because you don't work.

01:21:29 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 3:

And I would actually be the guy on the other end that was just trying to get my insurance taken care of. Now I know exactly what these people are doing. I'm a hoes alone.

01:21:37 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 2:

Unreal. WKQI Detroit. WSNX. Muskegon. Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:22:08 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you ready?

01:22:10 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:22:12 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:22:17 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 2:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:22:23 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Good day, guys. Have you guys with us today on Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM. And the iHeartRadio app. Listen to the podcast. If you ever miss any War of the Roses, we got them for you on TikTok. Just search Channel 955 and Mojo in the morning. We put the War of the Roses on our Detroit station, Channel 955's TikTok. It's pretty much loaded with them all. So you can go check that out. So I got to tell you that I always feel kind of awkward even talking about this because I don't want it to ever look like I'm bringing something up right now because I, you know, have an obsession or something. But I think this is a good topic. And I don't want it to be weird amongst my friends because sometimes you bring up topics about friends, and when you bring them up on the air, it's great on the air.

01:23:19 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 1:

Great topic. Great calls.

01:23:21 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 3:

until the next time you see your friend and then you realize oh this house party is not as much fun as it was once because everybody's kind of looking at you so chelsea's best friend is a uh a very very nice person who actually i joke around all the time i'm like you guys are like sisters for god's sakes they like finish each other's sentences is uh a woman by the name of jessica christie jessica is also a very very talented uh you know uh beauty person in town here she she's a business owner yeah she owns a place a business called beauty beauty culture okay beauty person actually actually one of her her you know great staff is right here uh who works for uh lauren is here with us you met uh lb when we were just here talking and had her family here Actually, I go to beauty culture as a client, although they do not want me to ever say that. Because it has done good things for me, but it has not changed my looks to make me look like I'm Tom Brady. What do you do over there when you go? What do I do, LB? Do I do facial? What is it exactly called? Because I never know what exactly it is called.

01:24:30 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 2:

I think he gets that, Tom.

01:24:32 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 3:

I do diamond glows. I like that. I don't know what it is, but it sounds good. I get show topics from LB about all the crazy stuff that goes on in this world. She's very good at that. Actually, she should have actually applied for the position on the show. She probably would have been fantastic at that, although she makes way more money there than she would make here. But let me go back to the uncomfortable story here. So Jessica, Chelsea's best friend, is on social media. and she posts a lot of stuff, both personal and, uh, in business. And, you know, uh, and when she makes her posts, I usually like every single post, like she'll post stuff sometimes where she'll talk about, you know, um, you know, I don't know, uh, peptides and she'll talk about things that, uh, you know, autism and stuff like that. She's very big on trying to make people aware that, you know, parents who have autism that there's help out there for you um she posts things about your beauty and things like that and so I'll see these things and I I'm always liking her stuff well she also posts in her bikini from time to time and she has a banging body well you said that I didn't she does and not that I'm not gonna say that because you know I don't want people to think or her to think that I don't think that she's got a very nice body but I try to fast move past them because I don't want to, A, be caught looking at them because it's like looking at my sister, for God's sakes. But it's also awkward because sometimes I like without noticing.

01:26:05 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you are a happy liker. I just like. I feel like if you know somebody, you just like it and you don't even, like they could be announcing that they, you know, have cancer and are dying and you like the thing. I like it. You're not even watching it or listening to it. You just know, oh, I know this person, so I like it.

01:26:20 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 3:

But on Instagram, my like is, you know, the only one. It's the only one. Yeah, exactly. On Facebook, I just heart everything because I figure that.

01:26:30 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 4:

You really do. You are a happy hearter.

01:26:31 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So I have not hearted her bikini photos. And this has gotten to a point where I finally had to say something to Chelsea. And I said to Chelsea, I just want you to know this, that it comes up in my algorithms, like, you know, all the time. And I found myself going, all right, she's posting these things. And these things must, do they sell a ton? Like, do you guys sell business when she posts these pictures? Oh, yeah. It goes big. It's big stuff. So people come. They come, which is good, right? Yeah. I mean, Shannon, you do social media posting all the time. You ever thought about your bikini? Hilarious. We're missing opportunities here. Oh, you did post. We did post the jumping off the cliff the other day.

01:27:16 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 4:

I know, but that wasn't like a, that was a horrible video of me.

01:27:21 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 3:

No. Kevin, could you like your friends? Like, you have a bunch of buddies. If their wives were posting, what would you do?

01:27:28 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

You got to be, you got to be, you got to have some decorum when it comes to certain things. Not everything has to, I think that's the problem. Yes. You don't have to like everything. Yes. Because I find it weird when you're friends on social media and you can see your friends and if they've liked the picture. Really? You go to a picture, you can see most of the morning like that. Like, I look at some people, I'm like, Kevin Tierney. He likes everything too. He's like me. Yeah. You can't be out here like that. I look at some people that I know are married and relationships and you got this ass twerking on the screen and they don't like the picture. It's like, bro, what are you doing right now?

01:28:01 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 4:

But the fact that we're so caught up in, oh my God, do I like this? What are people going to think of me if I like this? And if I don't like this, you're going to be mad at me. Like it's, it's a freaking like on Instagram.

01:28:12 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know, it's very telling though. I don't think you should like it.

01:28:16 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes it can be. I'm just saying in this case, like, it's Chelsea's best friend. You know Jessica very, very well.

01:28:24 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 3:

But I want to show support. That's what you're doing. I'm showing support.

01:28:29 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 4:

But I'm saying she knows you support her and you love her. You don't have to like those particular posts.

01:28:35 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 3:

I like all of LB's stuff. I do. Have you ever seen my likes on there? You probably have, haven't you? Or do you even notice? No, I don't care about her so much. You're good? Okay. Does it ever... Let me, come on up, come on up to this. What did you call him, by the way, when you introduced your husband? You called him the sexy? She called him a dilf. We called him a dilf. Tony Travato is in the hallway right now going, why don't our wives ever call us dilfs? Does it bother you, like, that your wife is, because she doesn't do the bikini stuff, but she posts a lot. Does it ever bother you at all? Does it ever make you uncomfortable?

01:29:09 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 1:

No, not at all. I'm very comfortable with myself and our relationship, and, I mean, everything is built on trust, too, right? So, like, and like you're saying, like, support, right? That's big. That's huge. When you have that company around you like that, it only elevates. Do any of your guy friends ever like your wife's stuff? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Of course.

01:29:29 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 4:

If they were posting drooling emojis, we'd have an issue.

01:29:35 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 3:

Wait, no, but if they did a drooling emoji, you'd be upset. That would be a little bit.

01:29:38 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 1:

No, it wouldn't bother me.

01:29:39 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 3:

It wouldn't bother you at all.

01:29:40 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 1:

Okay, you are a unicorn. Good luck.

01:29:43 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

These guys are confident. I like it. I like that. can i tell you something it would drive me crazy if my wife was so chelsea does uh you know she doesn't post like pictures in her stuff like she's very kind of more conservative to the stuff that she'll post but she is

01:30:00 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

like looking hot as hell because she goes to beauty culture but she's also chelsea and um and she'll post some stuff and don't think i don't go and look through her people that like her and if i see you know somebody on there we talked about this with misfit victor remember because

01:30:16 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 7:

chelsea posted yes it was like a photo in her bikini top and she had a cute hat on and he was like i really want to like it but didn't he ask you for permission so my friend victor sends me

01:30:26 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 2:

a text and says would it be okay if i like your wife's pose and i said to him go ahead pervert

01:30:32 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 1:

yeah yeah um hannah what's going on hi i just wanted to say i looked her up on instagram and i can a thousand percent see why this is a topic she is so hot she's hot right i mean oh hold on

01:30:48 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 2:

did i say that for sure but but she also here's the deal she's also very good at what she does I mean, she's extremely well thought of and has a huge client base. But can I also say to you, you know how difficult it is when her husband is my golf partner? Hey, what's up, Will? Will's actually good with it. Will's all about the business, man. He's all about the Benjamins of this one. Yeah. What's going on, Day? Are you male or female, Day? Or do you identify whatever? Okay? What's going on?

01:31:22 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm not liking that picture unless I can fight the boyfriend, you know what I'm saying?

01:31:29 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 2:

So if that was your girl, you would have a problem with this. That would be a tough thing for you to have a girlfriend in, you know, a business where she is an influencer, wouldn't it?

01:31:40 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 5:

No, yeah, I think that would definitely be tough for me. But, I mean, if she's with me, she's with me. If she's not, you know, she's not.

01:31:46 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to lie to you. I do feel, like, really special, and I feel like, you know, it's kind of like you got a trophy. When I post things with Chelsea and people comment on Chelsea, and the people that comment on them a lot of times are women. A lot of women will talk about how hot she is. And it makes me feel good. And I think that there are some guys that will post. Like some guy actually made a post a couple weeks ago, and I'll be quite honest with you, it kind of offended me. Really? That he was like, how did she end up with you? Which, you know, okay. I didn't have money at the time, so she didn't come for me with money. But I will say this, though, that I was thinking to myself sometimes, like, when you see that, do you ever judge that? Like, when you see a guy with a girl, and the girl's way over.

01:32:33 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 5:

I mean. It's a personality, man.

01:32:37 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, she's with me for my personality. That's exactly it. Or she like your six. You know what? I'm going to go with that one. I'm good at sex. What's going on, Darren? Darren, how you doing? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

01:32:52 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Mojo? How are we doing this morning?

01:32:53 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 2:

You know what, Darren? I'm doing fantastic. I'm just making my personal life really awkward right now.

01:33:00 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I get it, though, because believe me, if I were to like another girl's post, I would be dead.

01:33:05 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 7:

Oh, it's like that bad for you. Yeah.

01:33:07 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, I haven't lived down the fact that one time we went to a lake with her friend, her best friend, and her boyfriend. I actually looked at her best friend in a bikini, and I have not lived it down to this day.

01:33:21 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 2:

what was it what was the look like what what kind of look were you looking at her with but well the

01:33:27 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 6:

thing is there was like a bunch of houses all around the lake right yeah so i'm looking back past her at one of these people who are just like staring at us and then i kind of like looked up and down in her direction so she's like oh you're you were looking at her i'm like no i was looking over there at those people that are staring at us and still to this day she doesn't believe me

01:33:46 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 2:

it's because you're a liar that was a bad lie you should have just said yeah i was looking but And, you know, my intentions are good.

01:33:53 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I've heard up, you know, but, hey, you know, it's, yeah. I love that he admits it to us now.

01:34:01 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 2:

Misfit Nicole, please add some sanity to this whole situation. What's going on, Nicole?

01:34:06 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Hi, Nicole.

01:34:10 - 01:34:12 | Unknown:

Hey, I miss y'all.

01:34:12 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

I miss you, too. Get your butt in here. Come visit us. Come say hi.

01:34:16 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 4:

Who's there?

01:34:17 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 2:

It's summertime. Come say hi to us. You're out of school right now.

01:34:21 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Listen, you know I'm a principal now, right?

01:34:23 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Wow. How would you like to have Misfit Nicole as your principal? Would that not be fantastic? I love it. What's going on, Nicole?

01:34:31 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 3:

I was saying, you know how Shannon said you're a happy liker? I'm a happy emoji person. Like, I always put emojis by my comment, and my husband was paying attention to my kiss emojis. And we had a real argument. Because he said I was, like, giving it out. But to me, it's just like an emoji. Like, it's not a big deal. But he was like, oh, I saw you kiss emoji that guy. And it was like a real problem.

01:34:57 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, why are you kiss emoji-ing some random guy?

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 1:

No, it's not a random guy. Like, it'll be somebody I know. Okay. But he'll pay attention. Like, he trolls my page to pay attention to my, like, emojis. Yeah. Okay.

01:35:12 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 5:

I think a kiss emoji, though, is a little over the top. Like, a heart is different than a kiss emoji. Like, the kissy emojis? Unless it's, like, is it the kissy emoji that's kind of, like, you know, sweet? Like, you know, like a mom kissing the forehead of a child?

01:35:27 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 1:

It's not like, I think you fine, what's up? It's a mouthy.

01:35:33 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 4:

She got the wink kiss with the heart coming out of the mouth. Is that what it is? Yeah, that one. Yeah, that one.

01:35:43 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 5:

You know what, though? You got a protective man. Is it bad that guys are protective of their girls and they get jealous of this?

01:35:50 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 4:

It could be some insecurity in there. Like my man's over here said, if you're comfortable in your relationship and you know that what you have is something nobody can interfere with,

01:35:59 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 5:

then you probably won't act like that. But the problem, though, is your relationship is not always 100% that way. Sometimes it's actually you go through struggles.

01:36:06 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

Look, if you're looking at a photo on social media and you have to contemplate whether you're going to like it or not, don't like it. It's so simple. Don't like it. It's not worth it.

01:36:17 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 5:

All right. We learn.

01:36:20 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 4:

We listen and we don't judge. And we judge.

01:36:22 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 3:

thanks for listening to us and not your better judgment this is mojo in the morning uh it's a

01:36:30 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 5:

mojo shannon cav i i gotta ask how because i've been kind of feeling like i'm out of the know lately and i don't know maybe shannon you feel this way too i want to know what girls he hanging with these days like what's going on he hasn't he hasn't been sharing with us but well really

01:36:48 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, nah, I might have lost her for good. Oh. Wait a second. I'm a little hurt, bro.

01:36:53 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 2:

Back up. I didn't even know that you were seeing somebody in particular.

01:36:58 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, according to Mojo, I'm Mr. Player Player over here. Got all the ladies. My home is a revolving door. You let him tell it, but that's not the case.

01:37:07 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 5:

Here's the thing. I always know that you are seeing somebody because there's always, like, the tiredness that goes on. You know, that's just life. That ain't love.

01:37:21 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 2:

See, I always know that you're seeing somebody or when you're seeing somebody, when you take a lot of FaceTime calls during the show and you step out and it's like, you can see a girl.

01:37:29 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, that ain't happening no more. Wait a second. I feel this is kind of sad. It is, bro. We don't need no music, though. Or you can have the music, man.

01:37:36 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 3:

Let's get into it.

01:37:37 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 5:

I need some.

01:37:38 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 3:

I need something that's like sand through the hourglass. So are the days of our lives.

01:37:45 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 4:

Rest in peace, Grandma Alice. I'm her story. that was it yeah man but no yeah I feel like um so yeah I was seeing this girl for a couple of months and uh months and we didn't know I mean y'all gotta know everything but you know but yeah so seeing this girl for a couple of months and before we um before we got into things I told her that I wasn't looking for a relationship I'm not looking for anything serious that's not where I'm Right. And she understood. And we started to see each other and spent a good portion of time together. We'll call her Nebu. We'll call her Nebu just to get names out here. Why Nebu, though? I'm hoping she hear this and I'm hoping she pick up my call. So, OK. So, yeah. So Nebu. So Nebu caught feelings and she's in a position now where, you know, she wants to find love. She wants to be in a relationship, and I'm still where I was when I communicated early in this that that's not what I'm looking for. And it feels at this moment like she's done with me, but I'm not done with her. Does that kind of make sense?

01:38:54 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 2:

No, it doesn't. Let's ask some clarifying questions. Because you said that you are not looking for a committed relationship, yet now you're saying that you don't want to be done with her.

01:39:04 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that doesn't have to be a committed relationship. that means that I enjoy what we have.

01:39:09 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

But you want to be able to date other people at the same time.

01:39:11 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 4:

It ain't even about, like, dating other people. I think once you have a relationship or you say, like, this is my person, that's a whole other level. It's not a level of marriage, but there's a certain level of commitment and togetherness, and you share things that you don't really share, you know.

01:39:26 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 5:

What you're saying is you want your cake and eat it too. Correct.

01:39:29 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 4:

I mean, what else do you do with your cake?

01:39:32 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 5:

You say no display cakes? No, I think I know what he's saying. I think he's saying that he really wants to continue to get to know her and hang with her, but he doesn't necessarily want to say we are it with each other. You just want to see how things go a little bit more.

01:39:50 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't want I can't be what she might need right now, which is not fair to her to stay in a relationship with her.

01:40:00 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 3:

really wants to be monogamous and that's i feel you and that's true um i don't really have a full rebuttal for that i don't have like a sly way of speaking about it but i i is it selfish to want to enjoy somebody's company even if that's not what they want but you're not i i don't think

01:40:17 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 4:

kev is necessarily the guy that's out you know uh bringing three or four at the time no i don't

01:40:23 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 1:

either but if i want to be in a monogamous relationship that means i only want i only

01:40:27 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 4:

want kev to want me i think his uh i think his his terminology to her is not right like i think he i think she's mistaking what he's saying uh because i don't think she knows kev like we know kev i think that she's thinking this guy wants to go out but kevin doesn't he wants to focus just on her he just doesn't want her to get her hopes up that kevin's wanting to get you know get married right now to her he wants to definitely not happening like i think that's the thing but i also think that you're saying it all wrong I think you should just say hey I'd really want to date

01:40:58 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 3:

you like I really want to be with you but he doesn't I mean I I enjoy what we have and I don't want to rush into saying okay now we're in a relationship like can we just enjoy what we have right now and be comfortable and okay with what we have right now why do we have to like hurry up and say we're together we're in a relationship you want to put a title on it I get that but at the

01:41:19 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 1:

same time if i if i've already been with somebody for a couple of months and i know that i'm invested i want you to be invested too and i don't want to always think when you go out that you're

01:41:29 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 3:

looking around for somebody else so i feel like you can look at me and say i'm selfish in a way that i want to continue to operate but i can also say okay you're selfish in a way that you want to operate by basically saying okay well if you're not doing what i if you're not in my timeline i'm

01:41:43 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 1:

out of here i actually i don't i don't think you're selfish in what you want i think you're selfish if you continue to do what you want while being in a relationship with her because you know that like your timing with each other you guys might be perfect for each other your timing's

01:41:57 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 4:

just not matching up right now thanks 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 sue what's up it's mojo in the

01:42:04 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 5:

morning hi uh first time long time hi um so i just wanted to say i obviously kevin i don't want you like give away her information but depending on how old this girl is she might not have time to play games so yes like you're valid in and liking her and wanting to date her but i know from personal experience when i hit 30 i i didn't have time to just be with somebody who wasn't

01:42:41 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 3:

wanting something serious so i am how old is she she in her early 30s okay but like when i maybe i just have a negative connotation around the word playing games well i can understand if we're on two different timelines but i'm not playing games with you if i'm enjoying your company and you know

01:42:59 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 5:

we're we're enjoying each other's company and and not saying that you're playing games with her specifically i just mean especially for women when we hit our 30s we have a specific timeline if we want kids and we want to get married first let's say that's her goal i'm not sure that's what our goal is but or even just a very serious relationship before kids just like my cousin if you guys seen the movie like their biological clock is ticking and we want to settle down and get that going so even if she does really like you she just knows what she wants but that's the

01:43:36 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 3:

thing how many people are missing out on true love because they operating off an imaginary timeline that somebody told them was what they were supposed to be operating on but for some women

01:43:45 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 4:

though it's not imaginary because they want children and i think that they want to have it

01:43:49 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 3:

at a certain age women having kids like okay if they want it at a certain age there you go

01:43:53 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 4:

well let's not say they're biologically but they're the ones carrying those women or carrying those babies so they're it's well it's them carrying the baby and they want to do it within a certain period of time that they think that will help with their health but um chris what's up

01:44:08 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 2:

chris i was just wondering like you know kev one day is all about you know going to church and everything the next day oh i don't want to settle down i don't want to settle down i don't think

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 1:

that makes him a bad what does that have to do let him explain this up where are what are you

01:44:25 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 4:

doing right now it sounds like you're shoveling rocks yeah what is that what is that noise i'm working okay can you just take one second though because it's literally hurting my ears uh so you're so you're saying that kevin he's judging me can't talk about how he has a relationship with god but also a relationship with girls well it's not very godly you know

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

We'll be sitting here messing with one girl one day, talking about having a girl at the house the next day, this, that, and have you.

01:45:00 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 3:

I mean, how can you sit there and be all about the church and all about God, but yet you want to kind of be a little bit of a man whore? You have no idea if this is the same girl that I've been talking about or not. You're just making assumptions right now. We listen to radio and talk about all these different girls. I'm just saying.

01:45:19 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, listen, I will say this about Kevin. I agree with you in the fact that I think that Kevin does sound like he has multiple girls, but I didn't even know about this one, and neither did Shannon. We both seemed shocked. So it could be that it's the same girl, and the stories that he brings to the air are from the same relationship.

01:45:39 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 3:

It's been two girls, and this has been the one that's been the one for the last two months. See, I blame you for this. Huh? I blame you for this.

01:45:48 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 1:

Blame me, but God doesn't want you to.

01:45:50 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 3:

I see that now. What's up, Angie?

01:45:52 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 1:

Angie, hi.

01:45:54 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning, guys.

01:45:55 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 1:

Your phone, by the way, your phone sounds so much better than the last caller. Him shoveling rocks was hurting my ears. Go ahead.

01:46:02 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

No, my comment is that, Kevin, just communicate how you feel with her. You know, be open and honest and don't play with her feelings because if she really likes you and then you just tell her you're not ready, like just communicate. Be like, hey, this is what I want and see where it goes.

01:46:23 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 1:

I agree with you. I think it's all about the communication. And it's the wording, I think, too.

01:46:27 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, definitely the wording.

01:46:29 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 1:

I think that she got scared in the fact that she thought that Kevin was commitment-phobic. And I don't think you are Kevin. I think that Kevin, it sounds to me like you do seem kind of down about this girl. I do, man.

01:46:42 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 3:

I miss her.

01:46:43 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:46:44 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 3:

I miss my knee-boo.

01:46:45 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 1:

Knee-boo. My knee-boo.

01:46:47 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 3:

I want to know what that name means.

01:46:49 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you off here. Okay.

01:46:51 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 3:

It has something to do with her name.

01:46:52 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay. What's up, Crystal?

01:46:55 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 2:

Hey. I might comment to Kevin on this topic. Just being a woman of a certain age and putting yourself back out there in the gating time, like I already have kids, but this woman's in her 30s, and I remember being in my 30s. And just by the way you said that message, it sounds like what you're looking for is like a friend to pal around with, like a friend with benefits, and that's exactly the way it sounded. And it doesn't seem like it's going to go anywhere. And being that woman of a certain age and you're looking for a man and a husband, that's just not going to fly. And I'll be honest with you, I've got enough friends. So she's already like, look, dude, I have enough friends. And I don't blame her for being like, I'm not going to waste my time. This is happening. I remember seeing different comments about women. Like, I dated a guy for a whole year, five years. But he ups and marries somebody else. You got to look at it from her perspective. Okay.

01:47:41 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 3:

And if I'm looking at it at her perspective, and that was beautiful, beautifully said. We're going to give you some claps on that one. If we start off in our conversation and we're both saying that we're not looking for something, then how am I in the wrong if I'm portraying something that we've already discussed?

01:47:55 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 2:

it's the way you said it it sounds like friends with benefits i'm telling you i'm 45 i've been i've been i've been through it all two kids took off like several years put took myself out the game it's the way you said it and she's like i'm not trying to be friends with benefits so what i

01:48:12 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 3:

don't know if you heard me correctly we both came to the table and said we aren't looking for

01:48:16 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 2:

something but that's how we started she's like you know what i'm saying it's really feeling you. That happens. Yeah, she's catching feelings. She's catching feelings and it doesn't sound like you really catching feelings. I know. That's what I'm

01:48:28 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 3:

saying. You came up in two months and all of a sudden y'all hit me with the I'm on a timeline and I'm looking for marriage and I have that like, bruh, we just said we was out chilling and having fun together. And all of a sudden I'm getting condemned because y'all on a timeline. I think she should listen

01:48:41 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 1:

to... But you have to look at it. I think, Crystal, that she should listen to this break here, this podcast and she should listen to this to hear that Kev, I think, sounds is probably different in this conversation than he does sound to her. I think you sound like you actually do miss her. And that's something that, and it's not about, I don't think he misses the sex. I think he misses the companionship. Yeah.

01:49:04 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 3:

We didn't even have sex.

01:49:06 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Boy, that changes this conversation. See, here y'all go. Yeah, see? God's back into this now. Hey, call now and win tickets to see Tate McRae sold out Little Caesars Arena, Saturday night. Win tickets, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller, 844-665-6548. Tate McRae tickets can be yours. Mojo in the morning. You guys know that I talk about this on the show all the time. I'm probably the smartest financial mind in this room.

01:49:41 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 3:

Really? You've made the most. Does that with a big goofy grin on his face.

01:49:44 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not. I really am not. But one thing I know for a fact is there is one thing that you will never see me ever do unless I'm going dead broke and I really need to. And that is I will never sell anything on Facebook market.

01:50:00 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

place. And here's the thing. I would rather give it away or donate it to whatever Goodwill Salvation Army than have to have a complete stranger come to my house and pick something up. And with that said, I cannot believe this. I was online yesterday. I was on the Facebook. You guys know that thing called the Facebook? It's a great place. I got 90 friends on Facebook. 12 of them And I saw celebrity Brad Galley from Channel 7 on Facebook. And on the Facebook, Brad Galley is listed as selling his kitchen table and chairs. And it is an interesting set of, you know, chairs and table. It's a beautiful one.

01:50:48 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 5:

What does that mean? Yeah, what does interesting mean? No, it's beautiful. It's a beautiful one. Interesting set. That means it's ugly. Okay. No, no, it's nice.

01:50:55 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

No, no, it's not. It's a Pottery Barn one. Oh. It says, here's the description. It says, Pottery Barn table with leaf in good condition. Pictures show imperfections. Seven chairs are gray fabric and needing to be cleaned. All right, I love Brad. Brad's actually, Brad is actually like, I would say like a little brother to me. I talk about him all the time on the show. We do. We love the guy. Love him.

01:51:24 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 5:

And his beautiful wife, Claire, and their kids.

01:51:27 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 4:

Seriously, it's like the most precious family ever. But this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

01:51:32 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 5:

Why? They actually sell, I see their name on Facebook Marketplace a lot. All right. They do? They sell a lot of stuff. Maybe it's not easy. All right, I got a problem with this.

01:51:42 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 4:

I got a problem with this, Brad. Can we get Brad on? Will Brad come on with us, you think, on this one?

01:51:50 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 5:

Brad is on.

01:51:51 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 4:

Brad is on. He's on. Look at this. Brad Galley. Brad, are you sure you're Brad Galley and not Bad Galley?

01:51:58 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 3:

What is going on? I just woke up. I see a text from Lydia that says, Mojo wants to talk to you. I assume we're talking about the Major League Baseball All-Star. No, no, no, no.

01:52:07 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 4:

No, Channel 7's very own sports director, Brad Galley. He's throwing you a curveball, Brad. Brad, I'm – yeah, exactly. This is a – no, no, this is a Tarek Skubal 100-mile-an-hour fastball. I'm throwing it right down the middle. I haven't even brushed my teeth. You're swinging and missing on this one. Brad, you and Claire cannot be selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace. You are a famous individual. You don't want people coming to your house and buying stuff?

01:52:34 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's probably a really good call.

01:52:37 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 5:

I do it all the time, Brad, and he says the same thing to me.

01:52:40 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 4:

It's dumb. Have you ever seen the Nate Bargetski or whatever the guy's name is comedy special?

01:52:45 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's hilarious. This is one of my favorite clips of Nate. She started selling stuff online on Facebook Marketplace. and I found this out from a guy at my front door. I don't even really know what it is. I think it's just putting your home address on the open internet. She doesn't sell used cars. There's not, there's not like a big money coming in. She sells stuff that should be thrown away. she sold an old kid's folding chair for five dollars best case scenario we receive five dollars worst case our whole family is murder

01:53:38 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 5:

that is so relatable

01:53:42 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 4:

come on Brad

01:53:44 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 3:

I'll cut you a deal Mojo, 100 bucks is all yours

01:53:48 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 4:

I'll even drop it off. Brad, here's what I want to do. This is what I want to do. Yeah. I will personally buy your pottery barn table, even with the seven chairs that need cleaning. And I would like to put it in the radio station kitchen here at the station. And we're going to call the kitchen the Brad Galley kitchen. Can we do it? Do you think Colleen would allow us to have the Brad Galley kitchen somewhere?

01:54:12 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 5:

She's usually down for anything.

01:54:13 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 4:

And then what I'll do is I will buy it on one condition, that you, A, never do this ever again, and, B, will you and the kids and Claire sign the table for us? Will you autograph the table for us?

01:54:29 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 3:

One of two things. Absolutely, I would do all that. It's also garbage day, so if you encourage me to just put it out on the curb. No, no, no, I'm buying it.

01:54:35 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm giving you $200. I seriously, I'm going to put $200 towards the kids' Catholic education. What's up, Kathleen? How you doing? Hey, great. How are you? Say hi to Brad Galley from Channel 7, WXYZ. He's the sports director and also on Facebook Marketplace.

01:54:56 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Nice to meet you. Hi, Kathleen. We can talk. baseball if you want or you can talk about our pottery barn table yeah i'm gonna talk about giving away stuff for free like mojo are you in agreement that that's what brad should be doing yes i agree yes i don't want to see i don't want to see news story about brad galley being like robbed in his house and tied up and robbed you know what i mean like i don't want that

01:55:24 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'm in a local Buy Nothing group, and so instead of giving out my address, I drop off items at their house for free, but I was telling Lydia, like, how do I not know there's a serial killer behind the door waiting to kill me? Right?

01:55:39 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 1:

And those Buy Nothing things are, those sites are so good, too, but, yeah. What is that, explain? So, Buy Nothing, you can register for your area, and it's basically, you can either put stuff out you put a picture of it like brad could put his kitchen table on the buy nothing site for the city that he lives in and somebody could just go and grab it or you know you can you can just go and grab some of the things and everything is free so it's just a trade it's like a donation and but they have to come to your house to get it or whatever hey kyle's got an idea for us what's

01:56:10 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 5:

your idea kyle good morning guys how are you good morning good good good so i mean you missed a major opportunity here mojo if it's a kitchen then it's a galley so you could call it the brad

01:56:22 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

galley galley by the way are we sure that sounds like something that victor would say like victor would call it yeah that is actually really good kyle that is very smart i love that am i weird

01:56:38 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 1:

brad that now i want to text claire and be like send me a picture of the new table that you got

01:56:42 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 5:

yeah what did she what are you making room for it's very nice yeah it's very nice that's why We're excited, yeah.

01:56:49 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Ladies and gentlemen, on the phone with us right now is Brad Galley from Channel 7 and also his arch nemesis, Bad Galley, a.k.a. Misfit Victor. Victor, hi.

01:57:00 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, everybody. You're right. This is so weird. I thought you were calling and talking to me about the All-Star game. i have so many questions and the first question is brett is this like a or what you guys do like is it is the table still inside the house or is it in the garage or where is it too many questions unless you're a significant serious buyer it's bad enough you're going to allow strangers to find out where you live but are you going to allow them in your house or is it in the garage or i mean whatever and then i'm sorry i did i did see the ad mojo sent it to me and i want to know there you there's a ton of stuff that you guys have sold already including these uh neon bar signs were those uh forcefully sold by claire because she wanted him out of the man cave? Wow, I don't even remember those.

01:58:03 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know. Claire sells a lot of stuff. He's deep diving on this wine here.

01:58:09 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 6:

And the other question is, I want to find this guy, Jerry, who gave you guys a three-star rating. I want to know what's the guy who gave you guys a three-out-five star rating.

01:58:19 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 5:

How do you just go with it? He's been talking. He said, let's go.

01:58:22 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 6:

Jerry, Jerry, if you're listening, you rat bastard,

01:58:25 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Victor calls me last night, Brad. So I saw this yesterday, and I sent it to Victor and Lydia, and I go, we've got to bring this up on the air as a topic. This is a great topic of selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace and being somebody like Brad, who's famous. Long story short, Victor did deep diving research for us to find out everything that was sold. Oh, my God.

01:58:52 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 6:

I also saw a bunch of stuff, a bunch of Channel 7 notepads and, you know, books and stuff like that that were on there.

01:59:01 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:59:02 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 6:

They're sold for high money, man, big-time money.

01:59:05 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 3:

This, by the way, is one of my favorite human beings in the entire world, the legendary Brad Galley. I know Brad. The real Brad Galley. I love you, Brad. And, again, $200 is, I'm going to be seriously, cash. Cash in hand when I see you, okay?

01:59:25 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 6:

And who knows what went on on that table besides dinner?

01:59:29 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 3:

Wait.

01:59:29 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

He says things. I didn't know about that.

01:59:32 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 3:

By the way, will you guys stop this? Brad works for a family television station. We do not want to be bringing stuff up like that.

01:59:39 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 6:

I was talking about dessert and stuff like that, you sicko.

01:59:42 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:59:43 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 6:

You pre-bird.

01:59:44 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 3:

Love you guys. Love both Brad and Brad. Love you. Talk to you guys. Bye. A friendly note to the competition.

01:59:51 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 6:

You all can kiss our asses. I feel better. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning, just a random topic.

02:00:00 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 2:

throw out there here here's the topic we're gonna do last lie what was the last lie that you told and it could be big or small it could be the easiest topic ever it could be something as easy as you just told your boss that he looked good today and you know that he looks like crap or it could be like mine my my last lie that i told was yesterday when a neighbor called me and asked if i was home because they needed something and i hid in my basement the entire day because i was worried that they were going to come over to my house, and I had no clue what the hell they wanted, but I was like, I don't want to see them. You ever have one of those moments where it's like, I don't want to see you. So I stayed in the basement with the blinds all drawn, watching television, kind of just chilling out, and then when I go outside to take the dogs out because they have to go pee, I got to take them out to the backyard instead of the front yard, which I normally do because I don't want them to actually know that I'm home. Whoa. That's my last lie.

02:00:52 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 1:

My last lie, I just lied to Tony in the hallway. He was, Tony and I had a conversation this weekend. Yeah, yeah. He was like, man, I was being a total a-hole. And I was like, no, that's all good. And he was. He was being an a-hole. Yeah. What was Tony doing that was being an a-hole? What was he doing to you? He just had a very frustrated day. And we had a very frustrating conversation. But I could tell that it wasn't just me that the emotion was being brought towards.

02:01:15 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 2:

All right. So last lie. What's the last lie you told, Shannon?

02:01:18 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to get busted. Somebody asked me if I was available to do something this week. And I said I was busy and I am not busy. I just don't want to do it. I want a dang free day.

02:01:29 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 2:

I hear that. You know the problem with that is? You probably have told a few people that you're busy. Now everybody's going to think it's that person. Now if it is.

02:01:36 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 5:

I want a free night.

02:01:38 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 2:

I like that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What was your last lie? Big or small? We'll take them all. Lydia, what was your last lie you took?

02:01:47 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 4:

Bianca asked me if she looked cute today. Ah!

02:01:52 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 5:

Poor Bianca's just getting raked over the coals with what she's been wearing in here.

02:01:56 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 4:

lately turn my mic up turn my mic up okay go ahead talk your shot lydia's cardigan was from freshman year of high school and it's from forever 21 it looks like a granny sweater oh and so what maybe the mayor will like it wow well no guy will oh look at this looking for a man right now so that's fine you guys man i could say some lies right now but i'm just gonna be nice

02:02:17 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 2:

no no no go ahead we want to hear him for calls to come in come on i told lydia her ex-man would

02:02:22 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 4:

come back to her but i don't think that's gonna oh my god come back to me i don't want him to I hope he doesn't, especially this last one.

02:02:28 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

Which one are we talking about? Which X-Man? Are we talking about gas station guy or are we talking about D's nuts, Derek?

02:02:34 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 4:

His name wasn't Derek.

02:02:35 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what his name was. Dessert D. Drew.

02:02:38 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 4:

Find out after the commercial break.

02:02:40 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so Bianca and Lydia, what is going on between the two of you guys? You guys sound like you guys got a little bit of-

02:02:47 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 4:

We're having a field day.

02:02:48 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 2:

You guys got a little bit of issues going on there.

02:02:49 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 4:

No, she's just driving me nuts today.

02:02:51 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 2:

Man.

02:02:52 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 4:

She asked me to leave mid-show to go get her coffee from Whole Foods. I'm like, I'm not leaving the phones to go get you coffee. I just squatted her in the producer room.

02:03:01 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 2:

So what were you going to do? Were you going to cover the phones for her while she left?

02:03:04 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I can do that. I'm a talented individual. You're not doing that.

02:03:06 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you guys ever do that, and I don't know that you're doing that? Because I lost my TV connection here, and I don't get to see you guys anymore.

02:03:13 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 4:

No, I've never left phones, and I'm not doing that. We should switch one day. Come on, everybody already knows how I feel about that. We'll switch, and we'll see if you notice.

02:03:19 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 2:

No, no, I will notice. I noticed when we had the fill-in working when we were doing the audition. It was not the same. I know Lydia's phone touch. She's very quick with it. Everybody else is slow as hell. Hold on. Dallas is back with us. Dallas, what's the last lie that you told, and was it to me when I saw you this weekend?

02:03:41 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I was trying to talk to Lydia, man, but I'd have to think about that one real quick. No, no, come on.

02:03:46 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 2:

He said I was trying to talk to Lydia. What's the last lie? What's the last lie? Lydia's not here right now. She's at Whole Foods getting Bianca's coffee. What was your last lie?

02:03:56 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Um, let's see. What was my last lie? Probably not doing a run for somebody for, for my second job.

02:04:05 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So they wanted you to go do a run. And what did you say that was the reason why you couldn't do the run? Oh, that I had plans. You know, I think that's fine. It goes back to what I was saying earlier today. When you say, and this is a Chelsea statement, my wife, Chelsea, when you say yes to others you're saying no to you so i'm telling you it's yeah it's okay for you to do

02:04:29 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 3:

that i remember you were talking to me but i don't remember what exactly you were talking about right now i was i know you guys approved for the handle handlebar oh yeah he wants to do

02:04:46 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

a handlebar tour thing with us those are so fun yeah yeah i like that idea and by the way i wasn't lying when i said i was interested in it i like those i would i would love to do a promotion with

02:04:56 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

you okay well i will uh hold on i'll go back and catch a little

02:05:00 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I'll put you on hold with Lydia. This is the easiest topic we did all morning. I mean, we had topics this morning where we're like, what's the last, you know, your dog, how'd your dog almost die or whatever. I mean, people are calling in with their, let me tell you about my dog eating its tail, you know, stuff like that, or my dog eating the balls. You're telling me that people can't call in with a lie? Zach, Zach Martian Radio, what's going on, Zach?

02:05:23 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I have a confession. I definitely lied earlier today. What'd you lie about? You don't want a big brother?

02:05:27 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I definitely want that.

02:05:30 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, buddy. But I lied when I said it didn't piss me off when my nephew fell asleep at the movie. I spent $60, bro. See that? Wake up and watch this movie. Absolutely.

02:05:43 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's hard-earned money. It's a fact. Wasted. That's a lot of podcasts that you put up for that thing. I could have sent a podcast. Seriously. I would be pissed, too. Do you know what's funny about that? It brought up something. I took my kids, so I took Luke to, I took Jacob to Universal Studios once. I took Luke to a baseball All-Star game. My kids go on great trips. You want me to be your big brother? I'll be your big brother.

02:06:08 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Can you adopt me?

02:06:10 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 1:

Both of those kids let me down on one thing. One thing, Luke wanted to leave the game early, the All-Star game early. I'm like, we're not leaving the All-Star game early. He wanted to beat the traffic. The second one was Jacob. We were at Universal Studios all day, and we were, I was tired as hell. I could not even walk another inch. and Jacob's like, can we just go on another ride? And I lied to him because I told him that the ride was closed. It was like, the ride at the back of the park, I'm like, this is not good. I think it might have been like the, did you ever go to Universal, the Bart Simpson ride? It's like the back of the park. What's up, Tony? How you doing? What's going on, Mojo? Hey, it's going good, man. The last lie that you told.

02:06:53 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 2:

I told my supervisors that I'll come in for some overtime.

02:06:56 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. Hold on a second. Say that again. Your phone cut out. What did you say?

02:06:59 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 2:

I told my supervisor that I'll come in for some overtime, but I lied. I couldn't find that initiative.

02:07:04 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you didn't show up? No, not at all. Oh, my God. Did you get fired? I called them, though. No, I'm out of work right now. Oh, you're right. Oh, this is excellent. Okay. You are so f***ing fired. I'll be here in a minute. Dominic, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey, how you doing? First time. Hey, Dominic.

02:07:22 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 3:

what's going on you're not lying how's it going hey my cousin's my cousin's in the hospital she said are you downstairs i said yeah i am i i just left the house i do that hey chelsea and i talk

02:07:39 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 1:

on on our podcast today about following each other's locations and uh and how you know i talked about it on the air she was mad about me talking about on the air because it made her look bad when there's a reason why she doesn't and i don't follow each other's uh locations well that was actually one of the reasons why she wanted to follow my location was because i would always say to her yeah i'm on my way home and she knew it was a load of crap so yeah you didn't even leave the station or nothing yet right buddy i used to do that all the time and you could hear the echo of the hallways here at the station i'd be like i'm in the car you got to be careful so yeah right Hey, take care, Dominic.

02:08:17 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm not the way you're not with, though, for real.

02:08:19 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 1:

You guys, too. Hey, see you, buddy. Appreciate it. Wow, how about this one here? Can't call on the air because I'll get busted by my boss. Told my boss that I couldn't make it into work today only to find out that my boss had to do my job and he got injured and has to go to the hospital. No way.

02:08:35 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 3:

That boss knows who he is if he's on his way to the hospital.

02:08:38 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Check out our Facebook page. Facebook. Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning.

02:08:43 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. home of the War of the Roses second date update in the Dirty on the 30. Mojo, Shannon, Kev, all hanging out here with everybody together. We're excited that you guys are with us and joining us today. Shannon, this is a big moment for you because it kind of remembers a little bit of what you had at this time. But your daughter, I can't believe I'm saying this, like this is going to make me feel like really old. lucy has her first job how is that that's unbelievable she's a stock broker on the

02:09:19 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 3:

new york stock exchange honestly she probably could be do you ever look at your kids are so

02:09:25 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

smart do you look at your kids and say to yourself smith is going to be you know a lawyer lucy's going to be a doctor because i used to look at my kids first off i never thought that a my oldest son would go into radio never thought that I kind of prayed he didn't but he's doing great and then I got a middle son who's gonna be a doctor in psychology like I never thought that it's not yeah I mean I knew Jacob would do something great but that's amazing he's gonna be helping people helping the world and then Luke a drug dealer he got everything he'll own a medicinal marijuana or I don't know.

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 2:

Like a billion dollars doing that right now, right?

02:10:03 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 4:

But you ever look at your kids and wonder what they're going to do in life?

02:10:05 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. I think Smith, who is eight, is going to do something really creative. Like, he'll be, honestly, he'll be like a famous fashion designer or something, knowing him. Lucy loves building and stuff, so I could see her being, I don't know, like an architect or an engineer. Like, her brain works that way. She loves Legos and drawing things. in so but she is not going to do any of those things today she is not a stockbroker obviously but she has her first babysitting job today okay and she last night we were going to bed she's so excited and so nervous at the same time she's watching one of my best girlfriend's five-year-old daughters while my friend goes to get her haircut and they live in the neighborhood like a couple of streets over and it'll probably be for an hour but for lucy this is a really really big deal that she has her very first babysitting job. And as I was going to bed last night, I kept thinking to myself, I remember my first babysitting job and it did not go well. So I hope that Lucy's day today goes better than my first. And it was probably right around her age. She's going into sixth grade. I think maybe I was in seventh grade when I babysat for this little girl down the street. Her name was Rachel. I'll never forget. And when I got there, I was really into the Babysitter's Club book series. And so in the Babysitter's Club book series, they had these things called kid kits. So I made my own kid kit and it was basically a shoebox filled with all sorts of books and crafts and things for the kid that you were babysitting to do. And so I showed up to the house and I had my little kid kit. I was ready to go. I feel like I had anticipated everything that could possibly happen. And the mom, before she left, she was like, hey, so I'm going through a divorce right now. And if my ex-husband, if Rachel's dad shows up when I'm gone, make sure that you lock all of the doors and go downstairs in the basement bathroom and lock and lock the door and don't let him in. I don't think I want to do it anymore. And I'm thinking, what? If I would have called my mom and told her that, she would have said, come home immediately. But I didn't have a cell phone. Yeah.

02:12:21 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 4:

That's wild.

02:12:22 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 2:

She was like, all right, thanks. Bye. Have a good time. Did he come, by the way? He did come. Oh, my God. And he did knock at the door. And I did exactly what she said. We just went downstairs in the basement and didn't answer the door. And that was that. Nothing else happened. What was so bad about that? How flipping scary.

02:12:38 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 4:

I gotta know. Was he a bad dude? I have no. He had to be.

02:12:41 - 02:12:44 | Speaker 2:

I was 12 years old. I didn't know the story.

02:12:45 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy.

02:12:45 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 2:

But the fact that she thought it was okay to bring a seventh grader into her house in that situation to watch her kid was wild to me.

02:12:53 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 4:

I want to hear reminiscing right now of your first babysitting job and what went wrong. Is there any other listeners that have a moment like that? Lydia, Bianca, did you guys babysit at all? I don't know if I'd let Bianca babysit. That was my first job, too. Was it really Bianca?

02:13:13 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 1:

No, that's my third job.

02:13:17 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever have anything go crazy at all, Lydia?

02:13:20 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 1:

No, nothing crazy. But I do remember spending my first check on a Victoria's Secret bra and I was 14 years old. That's your first check? Yeah, I wanted those bombshell bras. The push-ups. Yeah, now I ended up with triple the boobs.

02:13:33 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 4:

That's insane, see? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I'd love to hear you guys tell us a little bit about your first babysitting job gone wrong and what crazy thing happened.

02:13:47 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 3:

Now, Shanna, you said you started with the babysitter's kit.

02:13:50 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 2:

The babysitter's club, the kid kits. Anybody who ever read those books will remember that.

02:13:55 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Is Lucy preparing for her job?

02:13:58 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what. I'm sure she will, knowing Luz. And for her, again, it's an hour, but she's thinking it's like an all-day thing. Yeah. You know, she's excited.

02:14:09 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Are you going to help her babysit? Because, you know, it's funny. You're talking about how you are just like a block or so away.

02:14:15 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and she'll have her Apple Watch on her. Will you hover a little bit or no? Yeah, I'm going to hover.

02:14:19 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 3:

She'll be the dad that showed up at the house.

02:14:23 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 4:

You know, it's funny. My first job was a, you guys don't even know what newspapers are probably, but it was a newspaper delivery. I remember my mom did my job for me. Really? That's how bad it was. I never babysat at all. But it's funny, our best babysitters we ever had, like, is when the kids were really, really little, were, like, the boys in the neighborhood that would play with them all day outside.

02:14:43 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

So she's trying to make some money. She's trying to save up money. So she's offered her services to all of my friends to be, they say, a mother's helper. So really she would go over to the house when my friends are there and, like, take their kids to the park or something or just play with them there. So this is, like, a little bit more freedom than that. I watch my Netflix.

02:15:00 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 4:

nephew delano well he kind of like my nephew more like my first cousin he my cousin's kid he basically like my little brother i watched him one time and i did such a bad job i never could watch him again alone i had that boy on the treadmill he was like i think i was in high school and he he couldn't have been 10 years old and i put it let's see how fast you can go like seven and obviously he fell off in his face. That was the last time they ever

02:15:26 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 5:

watched anybody. Hey, Nancy, what's up?

02:15:30 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I was babysitting the kids down the block, and the parents had like one of those 8mm, you know, cameras, film projectors. Yeah. And next to it, there was a Star Wars tape, right? I get them all ready, we're sitting down, I turn it on, what do you think's on? Porno. Oh, my God.

02:15:49 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 4:

You are lying.

02:15:51 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I was freaking out. and I'm like, oh, my God, no, no, no, no, I jump in front of it, there's things going on, I'm like, oh, my God. Boogie nights in HD.

02:15:59 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 5:

You know, that's actually funny. We had a girl babysit for us, it was a neighborhood kid, and her dad thought that she was watching porn at our house, that I had porn at our house, and it was, she grabbed a movie from our DVD stack, and it was American Pie. I had American Pie. Oh, okay. And the girl was talking about the naked people in the movie, and he got all upset about that.

02:16:19 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 4:

Stifler's mom.

02:16:20 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Brett? How you doing?

02:16:21 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 7:

hey what's going on no for real this first time long time hey good morning oh this is pretty awesome yeah it was uh my first baby sitting job was uh for my neighbors and uh they were little girls and uh you know i i didn't really know what to do but by the time the parents got home i i had ties in my hair i had makeup on stickers all over me my fingers and nails were all

02:16:54 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 5:

done why did we all have that look on our face when he first started i'm sorry brett that we had bad thoughts in our head of you out there babysitting uh lisa what's up it's mojo in the

02:17:04 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 1:

morning hi hey mojo first time long time welcome to the show what's going on tell us about your

02:17:12 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 6:

first babysitting job? I was about 12. I'm 68 now. I was about 12. I lived in Livonia and the neighbors asked me to babysit their little girl who was about eight on New Year's Eve. And I was so excited. I understand that completely. So I go down there and the people leave for New Year's Eve. And a little girl goes and puts on her brand new pair of shoes, gets up on the couch and walks all over the couch with her new shoes on and kept sticking her fingers in her butt and smelling it oh my god don't forget that one and then we both got really scared and we went and got kitchen knives and walked all over the house with our kitchen knives because i was petrified

02:17:50 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 5:

too oh my god by the way i was worried about brett dallas what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hey what's going on guys good morning good morning what's going on your first babysitting job did you babysit or did you well actually the story

02:18:07 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 3:

interesting but it was my little brother i was probably about 12 so he was about two yeah uh my big brother decided to uh put my little brother in this telescope case closed it and locked it oh no it was you know just he weighed into my little brother got impatient and started crying so he tried to open it he could not open the box oh no it locked yeah it was locked so i went and tried to open it and i couldn't open it either Oh, jeez. So we started panicking. I ran and got a knife.

02:18:40 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

02:18:40 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 3:

I started jamming holes into the, hey, I was being smart, right, trying to make sure he had air. And we still couldn't get it open, so I ran across the street. I got my neighbor. It was an older guy probably in his 30s, 40s or whatever. But he came over across to the house, opened up the case, got him out. My little brother was freaking out to the day. It's claustrophobic. Oh, my God. That's unreal. Who did he? Yeah, but every time he tells a story, he says, hey, and I just, it kind of pisses me off because I keep saying, hey, man, I didn't like you, and I'm the one that punch holes at night.

02:19:13 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I almost stabbed him.

02:19:18 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 5:

Sean, what's going on? Hi.

02:19:19 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. How you doing, Mojo? Good morning, everybody.

02:19:24 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. We're talking about the first babysitting job you had.

02:19:28 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely, yeah. I was like 9, 10 years old, was babysitting my cousin, and made the mistake of watching wrestling. He wanted to try some moves. And so I tried to show him some moves, and he ended up getting a concussion. Oh, my God.

02:19:46 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I thought it was cool to have a guy as a babysitter. This is not cool. Look at these people. They're nuts. Eve, what was your first babysitting job?

02:19:54 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

They told me that I had to have her take a bath.

02:20:00 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 5:

before she went to bed and I was only nine she was five and I told her okay you need to go take a bath I drew the water and she refused to take a bath and I'm like okay you need to take a bath one way or another and she's like no I'm not going to take a bath so I tossed her in closing all I'm like you need to take a bath and you're going to take a bath one way or another oh my

02:20:18 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 1:

god I'll question the parents by the way who is letting these kids that's unreal I'm just gonna By the way, the kid's no longer alive. What's going on? Megan, your first babysitting job?

02:20:33 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. My first babysitting job, I watched my sister. I was like 12. She was two and a half. My mom had a garage sale in the backyard, so she wasn't far. But my sister started choking on a carrot. I had to give her the Heimlich maneuver. She ended up throwing up everywhere.

02:20:51 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 1:

And when she brought up this as a topic, I thought, wait a second. we never talked about bianca getting this from a listener but explain explain what you gave to a guy that you just found out kind of like broke your heart a little bit um so i think i might

02:22:37 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 4:

have crossed a little bit of boundaries here but there was a guy i was like talking to a little bit nothing really serious but he just moved here from like texas or something and he was like i'm just like really broke right now i'm just like i just need some money he kind of was like hinting like he's broke whatever i was like oh okay so i willingly apple paid him two hundred dollars

02:23:00 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 3:

oh snap hundred dollars how long you know this man like a week oh and how did you guys meet on instagram yeah literally okay just because just you gave him two hundred dollars just because out of the kindness of your heart yeah i was like here you go to get you set up in michigan and

02:23:15 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

little he had to be cute was he cute oh my god that was my time you're probably the 10th girl

02:23:21 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 3:

that he he copy and paste yes exactly i don't know he seems like really appreciative what were

02:23:26 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 1:

you hoping like what were you giving him 200 for to help him pay his bills or what well i thought

02:23:32 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 4:

maybe he would like take me out he would like me he he was like oh like we could definitely go on dates together and stuff i was like okay bad so you're buying a boyfriend yeah by the way i guess

02:23:41 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 1:

that's how you want to put it by the way can i tell you something that is a guy thing to do like that is a very what is guys guys do that i've guy buddies that have done that and i'm not talking about like older guy buddies that are like my age i'm talking about even when they were younger and i was younger uh in my 20s and stuff buddies would give girls money when they would say hey i'm not doing good as a way to get a date with them oh okay like it was like girls money oh guys would give girls money which by the way i want to bring something up with bianca with that

02:24:10 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, don't play like that didn't just happen to you.

02:24:13 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 1:

If you think Bianca got swindled by this guy by giving him money and now, you know, this guy's, you know, which, by the way, we'll find out the full story in a second. Bianca, when she was going to Miami, had some random listener guy send her a Venmo.

02:24:29 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, see, it all comes back around. I know.

02:24:32 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 1:

It's called paying it forward.

02:24:33 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

02:24:34 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 1:

All right, so what happened with this guy?

02:24:36 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 4:

So I definitely thought that we were going to be something. I don't know. I was very delusional. But I found out he actually has a baby mama, has a girlfriend, has a kid with her. And I'm like, bro, again. How did you find that out? Because he posted it on Instagram. Literally, hard launch. Hard launch that boy. After the Venmo. After the Venmo. So he's definitely using that as like a baby registry or some baby gift here. Bianca. I know. Isn't that crazy?

02:25:02 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 8:

Does your dad, does Al know?

02:25:03 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 4:

He don't know.

02:25:04 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 8:

No, he's always, I mean, you guys are always exposing me on here. They don't know anything. You expose yourself. I know, but.

02:25:10 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 5:

Let's go back. He's sending dudes money like that. Let's go back here for a second. The guy says I'm broke. That should be your first indication. Red flag. I'm not going to go on a date with this guy because he's financially not doing well. I feel bad.

02:25:23 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 8:

I feel bad. Would you ever do that? Would you ever ask a girl for money?

02:25:25 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 4:

No, I've never asked a girl for money in my life.

02:25:28 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 8:

My question to you is.

02:25:29 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 4:

some shoes for me that I paid for.

02:25:30 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 8:

Why $200? Why wouldn't you just give him, like, first off, I don't know why you gave him anything, but why not $40? Why $200? I offered initially, I actually offered initially $100, and he's like, I don't think that's good.

02:25:42 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:25:46 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 5:

Bianca, I love you. You are dumb. You are dumb. And then I was like,

02:25:51 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 3:

all right, I'll double it. He said, I don't think that's going to be enough. You are so dumb. You are It's really dumb, for real.

02:26:00 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 8:

She's going to pay me back, too, but that's not coming back. It was like a loan that never came back. That's crazy.

02:26:08 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 5:

I seriously love this girl. Like, I do, right? You love her, too? Like, she's a sister to you, right?

02:26:15 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 4:

I do.

02:26:16 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 5:

I don't know how she leaves the house in the morning without hurting herself.

02:26:20 - 02:26:21 | Unknown:

Bianca.

02:26:22 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 5:

I feel like Kevin, when Kevin the other day is like, and you, Bianca. Let me hear your imitation of Bianca.

02:26:29 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay, bro. What are you saying? That sounds like. It's not words. It's just like emotions. That sounds like goofy. That's it.

02:26:37 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean.

02:26:38 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, bro.

02:26:39 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 4:

You can chill. You can chill.

02:26:40 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 5:

You can chill. You can chill. You can chill. George, what's up, George?

02:26:47 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 2:

I just wanted to tell Bianca, she's gorgeous. She should be getting wine and dine and never give a man money no matter what. Yeah.

02:26:52 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 8:

Well, it was a one-time donation fee. Never happening again, especially the fact that he has a kid. So I was like, all right, and a girl.

02:27:01 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 2:

You should always have the guys wine and dine you though, for real.

02:27:04 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 8:

I know, that's what Lydia tells me all the time.

02:27:06 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 5:

And the guys that can't wine and dine you, you don't need to be with them.

02:27:10 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm not in a financial position to wine and dine, so let's not.

02:27:15 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 5:

Listen, the guys that can't even afford to take you out for a coffee or whatever at Starbucks. That's wine and dine? Well, listen, that's my minimum, bare minimum. All right, we'll say that to you. But if this guy's like, $100, if he couldn't deal it with $100, and a guy goes, I want more out of this whole deal, that guy is a turd. Well, that's a scam.

02:27:34 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 4:

He's not trying to beware for real.

02:27:36 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 8:

I don't know if it was a desperation. I just felt like it was very nice. I was trying to be nice, but also I liked him. You do stupid stuff and you like someone. That's it.

02:27:43 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 5:

Lexi, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:27:46 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 7:

Lexi, you don't give a man money. You let him send you money. Don't be doing that. That's the biggest red flag I have ever heard. You can't ask. I'm just blown away that you had sent him $200, to be entirely honest with you right now. Like the mom thinks she wants to come to the show and just be like, girl, no. We're going to find you a nice television man that will send you money.

02:28:09 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 5:

Please, I know. Help this girl out. I'm now getting the same anxiety that Lydia gets from her. I still can't believe that Lydia.

02:28:17 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 7:

Give her my number, and we will teach her the ways, honestly, please.

02:28:21 - 02:28:25 | Speaker 5:

All right. Thank you. Lydia, make sure that we share. What's up, Kara? Hi.

02:28:27 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you?

02:28:28 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on?

02:28:30 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 6:

I'm just calling to say I'm a single mom, and I could go for a Bianca in male form.

02:28:37 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 5:

Bianca, will you help her out?

02:28:38 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I got you. I got $200 coming your way next. What's your Apple pay?

02:28:43 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 7:

I mean, girl, you got to find a better man.

02:28:47 - 02:28:47 | Unknown:

Oh, I know.

02:28:47 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 8:

I just can't. See, this was a Latino man, so I guess I don't got to go for those ones now.

02:28:52 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 5:

No, it's not about the Latinos. It's about the guy.

02:28:57 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 8:

Well, it was just a bad experience with one. But you're right.

02:29:00 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 5:

Lester, what's up?

02:29:02 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 8:

Hi, gang.

02:29:03 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

How are you? Good morning.

02:29:04 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 5:

Lester, seriously, I got more gray hairs popping out of me right now, and it's all since Bianca started here.

02:29:11 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Listen, Bianca, I was just like you. I'm going to be 60 years old next Sunday, and I don't have any money right now today because I gave all my money away to sad, sob stories. My mother once told me when a person is down and out and broke, leave them there because it's a reason why. It's a reason why. So, girl, listen, I'm there for you. I'm with you. I learned my lesson now that I'm broke. But, hey, I'm still here.

02:29:38 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 4:

I like it. Experience, cost.

02:29:40 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

You guys say hi to Josiah, my grandson. Yeah, that's right.

02:29:44 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 4:

I forgot about that. Shout out to Josiah. The other Josiah. Hi, Josiah. A second day, I took me back.

02:29:49 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 5:

Jen, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:29:53 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 4:

Hello. Good morning.

02:29:55 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:29:56 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 6:

Yes. I have a...

02:30:00 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 9:

situation with bianca but normally you know normally no you do not give a guy money what's her situation she's got some guy that's i was talking to i was talking to a guy for a few weeks online first day we met him or i met him he did have a kid as well and he told me that his furnace was down middle of winter so i gave him money to fix his furnace well long story short it worked out and we've been married for nine years oh my gosh and question for you

02:30:36 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 7:

so it does work out sometimes jen though do you bring more money in than he does now or did he

02:30:40 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 2:

finally catch up we're about equal oh gee to be fair too for your situation you had met and gone

02:30:48 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 3:

out with him a couple of times yeah i only knew this guy for a week had you ever even met him in person yeah one time after so i'm like was he setting me up for the money in the first place

02:30:58 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 7:

Did you guys kiss when you met?

02:30:59 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course. So you like the way you kissed? Yeah, of course.

02:31:03 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 7:

By the way, that's like prostitution. She's like, I'm in a dresser. What's going on? Jenna, what's up?

02:31:13 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 8:

Hi, so I can't really say anything about Bianca's situation because I gave somebody two grand. And he called me saying that he was in jail and he needed to be bailed out. And I had only known him for, like, a month or so. And I was like, okay.

02:31:33 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 7:

Did you go to the actual jail and bail him out? Or did you just send the money? Because I would think that would be a scam.

02:31:40 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 8:

I sent his friend the money. This guy had also just stole my car. Are you out of your mind?

02:31:50 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 7:

Why are the pretty ones always so dumb? Oh, my God. These stories are priceless I'm telling you This is unbelievable Paul what'd you want to say Hey good morning Good morning everyone

02:32:04 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 8:

02:34:22 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Alright, it is Mojo in the morning. I want to bring

02:34:42 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 7:

something up right now and I want to ask the listeners if they think that this guy was out of line. So my friend Ryan was telling me about how he is in love with a particular scent, a perfume that is very popular. And he bought it.

02:35:00 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 3:

Bought it for his wife. But he said that his wife was not happy when he bought it for her, not because she didn't like the scent, but because she didn't like the story behind the scent. And you guys tell me how you would feel on this one, especially the girls on the show. So he says that he bought her a new perfume that he really wanted her to wear. and the way that he found and discovered this was he was sitting at a bar and a girl sitting next to him was super hot and he was talking to her through the night and at one point and there was nothing more than just conversation normal conversation what you're drinking how you doing where you're from we do it all the time right with people right i don't want to get this guy in any trouble and he said to her he goes wow you smell really good what is it with that that you're wearing and she said it's tom crew or tom cruise tom ford cherry uh something hold on i wrote it down uh i was like lost cherry tom ford lost cherry okay any of you guys know that one i know tom ford i don't i've never smelled that one so it was tom ford lost uh cherry so he got on his phone tom ford lost cherry okay it is prime ordered it and had it delivered to his house and when it

02:36:12 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 1:

came he gave it to his wife okay please tell me he didn't tell her the story of why he told her

02:36:16 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 3:

the story another girl was wearing it so would you be upset if west did this for you yes yes why

02:36:26 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 1:

um because i don't want to know that it was the hot girl that was like it's one thing that if he smelled something at us at a store and thought of me and bought it but when when you add that little caveat of there was this really hot girl that I was talking to and she smelled so amazing so I bought you the same thing even though it was a very nice gesture I would always think of man I smell like the hot girl that my husband was like talking to all night when I put on this

02:36:53 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 3:

perfume as a guy just being honest as a guy there are times where our wives may see or girlfriends may see like a article of clothing or something and that's what I was gonna say I'm kind of a

02:37:03 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 1:

hypocrite because last summer Wes and I were at Dairy Mat in line to get some ice cream and there was a guy with a really cool like green hat on yeah and I said to him I was like oh I really like that hat like I want to order that hat for you and he was like you're only saying that because that guy is so hot I I'm looking at the hat not the guy I'm like and I'm imagining it on you it's your style and he I ordered the hat and he would not wear the hat so now Smith wears the hat Does Smith look good in it? Smith looks great in it. Good for Smith.

02:37:38 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, we went to Lulu in Birmingham, the one that's there off Old Woodward. Is it Lulu Lemon or do the rich people just say Lulu? We went to Lulu. And it's funny. You guys all know who this guy is because I see him all the time. But the guy that was working at Lulu Lemon, he was wearing like this.

02:38:00 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 1:

Did you take a picture of him?

02:38:01 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

No, I follow him on social media now. Do you guys know Ty Davis at all?

02:38:07 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 2:

Uh-uh. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Dare to be yourself.

02:38:10 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 3:

Dare to be yourself. So Ty was working there, and Ty smelled great. So this is him right here. That's him.

02:38:17 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I know who that is. Okay. Yeah.

02:38:19 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 3:

So he was working at the Lululemon.

02:38:22 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:38:22 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 3:

For all the people that didn't know what I was saying when I said Lulu. And that did, by the way, sound very Birmingham, didn't it? What was it? Hey. I parked my Ma's Karate. No, no. Ma's. Absolutely. So Ty was with us, and he's great. He's got a great personality. And Chelsea goes, man, what are you wearing? You smell so good. And she's like, oh, my God. And she ordered it for me right there. I wore it, had no problem. You're there, though. You were there with her. Okay, so.

02:38:54 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 2:

That's different than her coming around and being like, this man I smell was great. I want you to smell like him. Really? I see. It's the same. We're reading too much into it. No, no. I think it's the same thing as if you're having sex with somebody. In my mind, it immediately goes to that. You cannot tell me the reason why you want me to smell this way is because you smelled another man.

02:39:14 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 3:

It just does not work. But what if you're having sex with somebody and you remember somebody else you had sex with that did something to you that was fun?

02:39:22 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:39:23 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

Would you tell your significant other to try that out? Do it like this. I like the way Rachel did it.

02:39:29 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 2:

I cannot say that. I do not work like that.

02:39:32 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't necessarily know if that's a good idea.

02:39:34 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 1:

Even though the intention of buying her something is nice, it's snow. I'm not going to get Rachel. Yeah, uh-uh.

02:39:41 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 3:

You could not. What's going on, Michelle? Hi.

02:39:45 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hey. First of all, I'm coming here off the chains this morning.

02:39:48 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 3:

We are totally. By the way, this show may be our last. We may get pulled off after this, so please listen. What's going on?

02:39:55 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 2:

It's my favorite.

02:39:56 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I think that Tom Ford-year-old needs to get up.

02:40:00 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 6:

over herself? Because at the end of the day, I mean, your husband's buying you Tom frickin' Ford, which costs like a million dollars, and he doesn't want to go home with anybody

02:40:07 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 4:

but you. Yeah, and he's not

02:40:09 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 3:

buying it for the girl at the bar. Or maybe he wants to close his eyes and pretend that you're the girl that he was talking to at the bar. Well, you don't think that guys do that. Hey, just saying.

02:40:17 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

Have a good day, guys. Hey, take care of yourself. All right, hold on a second here. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Text 95500. Let's go to Tanya next here on the hotline. What's going on, Tanya?

02:40:32 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. First time, long time. Hey, Tanya on the phone.

02:40:37 - 02:40:38 | Unknown:

Whoop, whoop, whoop.

02:40:38 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 5:

I would just be worried if I wore the perfume and then I didn't smell as good as her.

02:40:44 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I didn't think about that. Oh, yeah, perfumes do smell so different on everybody.

02:40:47 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I would. Oh, yeah. But that would then be one of those things where you just got to eat that. You know what I mean? Like, you can't say anything, you know?

02:40:56 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 3:

Also, I don't think guys should be buying girls' perfume. Really? Yeah. Because I feel like I'm so picky about perfume. That's such a personal thing. Yeah, new perfume.

02:41:06 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 4:

Wait, why is it okay for girls to buy guys' perfume, but guys can't buy girls' perfume?

02:41:10 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 3:

Because we need to dress you. We need to make sure you smell good. We need to do all the things. I don't need to be fixed. I'm joking, by the way. But perfume is just such a personal thing.

02:41:22 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think it's personal, too. It goes with your pheromones. But I'll tell you, I did have a guy that was in a bar and came up to me and just could not, he just loved the smell and had to put everything down so that he could tell his wife. And this was a long time ago.

02:41:39 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, did you go home with him at the night?

02:41:41 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:41:41 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 4:

Do a little 3-3? This, by the way, show is off the rails today. I apologize, Tanya. All right, what's going on, Thomas? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

02:41:51 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 7:

What's going on, guys? Happy Friday. Hey, listen, I feel like when it comes to perfume and stuff like that, like word of mouth is the best, is the best seller. So, like, if you smell something on somebody else and you think it would be a good fit for your significant other, then why, you know, why not? It's not a marketing class, bro.

02:42:09 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 4:

Word of mouth is actually a good one and a recommendation. I will tell you this. I had gotten in trouble, and it also was with Tom Ford, too, where Chelsea and myself and then Ryan and Samantha Lash were out shopping one day. Shout out to the gang. And I went and looked at perfumes or colognes that I needed. And I was, like, looking for something. And Samantha said to me, she goes, oh, my God, try this one. And she said, Ryan's worn this, and I love it. And I tried it, and I was like, I love it. Chelsea hates that. And not because she doesn't like Samantha. Right. She loves Samantha, but she just didn't like it. And I still bought it. And I still wear it. Would you have sex with Samantha? Huh? If Ryan said it was cool. You are, by the way.

02:42:47 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 5:

I'm just asking.

02:42:49 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 4:

He is off the... You can say no. Do you want me to answer that? I'll answer that in an hour from now. No, no, I would not. That's my best buddy's girl.

02:42:58 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 6:

I'm setting you up.

02:42:59 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 4:

Angelica, what's going on?

02:43:02 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 6:

I would be pissed if my significant other bought me perfume based on another hot woman. Like, I just feel like you choose your battles, especially as a man. Like, you know how I was going to react to that. Like, how would you feel if I bought cologne? I was like, yeah, I saw this hot guy on the beach, and he just smelled so good. And I had to buy it for you.

02:43:21 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 4:

See, you just added to it, though. You're the hot guy on the beach. You know what I mean? Why do you got to bring the beach into this whole thing? I didn't see anything on the beach. Seriously. And we know that's not cologne. That was actually suntan lotion, probably. I don't know. You just added a little bit more to the story.

02:43:42 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 1:

Cheat and you'll get caught. It's the War of the Roses in minutes of Mojo in the Morning.

02:43:47 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 4:

We got a chance for you to go see Tate McRae right now. Text the word greedy, G-R-E-E-D-Y, to 95500, and you could be going to the sold-out concert. Want to see Tate McRae? Text greedy to 95500 right now. Standard text and data rates do apply. Good luck.

02:44:06 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:44:12 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 4:

The War of the Roses this morning. Is this a crazy coincidence? Or do we have a cheater here on the phone with us? This is Sarah. Sarah. Hey, this is is this your husband that you think is cheating or who is this?

02:44:25 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's my husband. We've been married for 13 years.

02:44:30 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 4:

OK. And the interesting thing is you think he's cheating possibly with your coworker?

02:44:36 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. One of my coworkers is a woman that he used to date. And that's been a really uncomfortable situation for me. And I just recently heard from another co-worker, they overheard this woman that he used to date talking about how she's seeing a new guy and she's really excited about it. And I think it's my husband.

02:44:57 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 4:

And it's the way that they...

02:45:00 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 3:

described the relationship or you heard about the relationship, everything sounds like your

02:45:07 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 2:

husband. It does. So this woman that he used to date was saying that her new boyfriend just got a new car and my husband just got a new car and she was saying it was a Jeep and my husband's

02:45:20 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 3:

car is a Jeep. It just really sounds like him to me. It's really interesting to think that you have to work with this person. So not only is this going to be an awkward situation where you're gonna be calling your husband up to see where he's gonna send a dozen free roses but you're also accusing a co-worker of cheating with your husband well the really hard part too is that

02:45:40 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 2:

he had cheated with her in the past this was like it was a few years ago and we worked through it we went to counseling um it made it extra hard for me to see her at work but i worked it out with my husband but he has cheated with her before and i that's why i just really feel like it started up again. Wow. He doesn't work with you guys, right? He doesn't. No. Just his ex-girlfriend. So he met

02:46:05 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 3:

this woman through you and your work? They had dated before we got married. And like, I was

02:46:14 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 2:

always a little bit jealous kind of while we were talking about getting married, but he said, no, it was all over. It was finished. And then, um, we moved and I got a new job and I started working with her and so we had contact with her again and i talked to him about at the time he told me not to worry about it but then he did end up cheating with her oh my gosh isn't that crazy uh we're

02:46:36 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 3:

going to be calling up your husband we're going to be seeing where he sends a dozen free roses we're hoping that the flowers go to sarah i want you to hang on the phone mute your phone and let us just do the call just to see where he sends them okay thank you all right don't say

02:46:53 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 1:

anything? Mute the phone. Here we go. Hello? Hi, is this Paul? This is Paul. Hi, Paul. My name is Nicole and I'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm actually calling with an offer for some free flowers for you. Do you have like less than 60 seconds to answer two survey questions? We're going to give you a dozen long stemmed red roses that can be shipped out today to the person of your choice anywhere in the country, totally free of charge to you. Um, new business. Just try to get our name out there. Totally free. Free. All right. I guess I do. Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Paul? No. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Um, no, probably not. Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. And so I'm going to go ahead and get some information about who you would like these to be

02:48:08 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 4:

sent to. So first and last name to start. Um, let's just say Rose. That's the first name? That's the first name, yeah. We're sending the flowers to Rose.

02:48:22 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and what is Rose's last name? Uh, just Rose. Okay. What is Rose's phone number?

02:48:34 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 4:

Uh, it's 248.

02:48:39 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh. Okay, and what is Rose's relationship to you? uh we're um we're friends okay and so it's okay that the roses are long-stemmed red roses just making sure okay um paul we offer something unique at roses bloom.com and that is a digital voice card that will be texted to rose upon delivery she'll be able to play it know that she got some flowers and then listen to the message that you're going to leave to know who the flowers are from so this is just kind of in in place of a paper card it's a little bit more personal and kind of a nice touch that we think that we offer so I'm going to go ahead and record that with you right

02:49:25 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 4:

now okay I just uh I just saved my message yep I'm going to count you down and you can make it

02:49:31 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 1:

as long as you want it's just going to get saved as like a digital voice file and sent through text Does that make sense?

02:49:37 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:49:38 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Here we go, Paul. Three, two, one.

02:49:45 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 4:

Hey, hope this puts a smile on your face.

02:49:49 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And she'll know your voice. You don't have to say from Paul.

02:49:53 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so.

02:49:55 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, Paul. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay?

02:50:00 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 3:

with that um yeah i guess so great i have to be now don't i well i just needed that yes from you but yeah yeah yeah yeah paul i'm gonna tell you one last thing and then we're gonna send those flowers off okay so i'm just gonna jump on them off all right we will but real quick i just wanted to let you know that while you have been sending the flowers to rose your wife sarah has been listening into this conversation and just heard every word that you just said how this is the mojo in the morning show and she called us up to see where you would send a dozen free roses and she just heard you send flowers to another woman is that the the co-worker Sarah Yeah That's her

02:51:00 - 02:51:03 | Unknown:

Wow

02:51:03 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 3:

It was kind of a friendly I don't know if it was romantic Thing that he said And he said she would know his voice

02:51:14 - 02:51:15 | Unknown:

So

02:51:15 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah And again he doesn't work with you guys so he's obviously having interaction with her yeah exactly it's not like he talks to her every day I mean I guess he does but not through work alright I want you to hang on the phone okay

02:51:34 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

okay busted again it's your home for War of the Roses Mojo in the morning call us 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. War of the Roses.

02:52:03 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 3:

A quick question on War of the Roses here. Just to throw this out there. Possibly a serial cheater. Possibly a guy that's gone back to this girl that he had once been in a relationship with before. how many times can this happen before you just say enough is enough maybe you've experienced this before but how many times did they cheat on you before you finally just said all right this is it you know i'm uh i'm out of here 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 and another question i just wanted to throw out there how weird would it be to work with somebody that had a relationship with your husband like i was thinking about this here she is in her indication or her her thoughts of why she thinks that uh it could be her husband cheating is the story just sounds so similar you know what i mean like everything about him the car and you know and all that stuff the jeep or whatever it was um like at some point how do you work with like and he doesn't work in that office like that's the part that's the weirdest thing right like if all of a sudden you had somebody that was coming in between you and your you know husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend and then you find out that they get hired at your same company like how do you deal with that 844 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. 844-665-6548. Text is 95500 to get through to us. I feel bad for Sarah.

02:53:42 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 4:

I've, well, I'll say this. I've known that a woman has cheated on me one time. And the reason why I say I know is because, obviously, it could happen with other relationships I've been in. But it only took that one time for me. I was in her bed. something was like look at her phone i looked at her phone seen the text messages and i was like man take take me home bro and that was it see i let a guy tell me over and over and over and over and over and over again why did you do it why do you think you did it like hindsight because yeah

02:54:14 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 1:

because i had hope that he would like it work through it and it would like get out of his system and then once we made a commitment to each other like we got it we ended up getting engaged and i thought that that would like so stupid like even talking about it now i was so stupid but i thought that he would change i'd hope that he would change that don't seem stupid to me though

02:54:38 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 3:

i couldn't work with him could you work with him could you work with the person that was cheating with uh with your uh your boyfriend hi hi what's happening so i sent a text and i think

02:54:52 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 4:

The wife, Sarah, needs to lay hands on this co-worker. It's crazy. How do you sit in my face?

02:55:00 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 3:

and talk about my man this, my man that, but you're talking about my husband. That job must be paying her a whole lot of money because why would you want to work with the ex that he cheated with? But today would be my last day working there.

02:55:13 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, and it seems like she was doing it purposely, you know, knowing that Sarah is, you know, married.

02:55:21 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 2:

But Shannon, why do you put hands on her and not him? He the problem?

02:55:30 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Both of them. He not exempt. No, he not exempt. But she knew, the girl knew what she was doing. This rose chick, she knows exactly what she's doing. And I think it's, like, diabolical that she is just, yeah, this is my man. But you know, that's the thing where they're like, oh, don't go after the girl. You only go after the girl when she knows. And she is aware. You're doing it on purpose. is you're trying to make me jealous and you're actively sleeping with my husband and you know that that's my husband but today be my last day working here he would be moving in with the girl

02:56:07 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 8:

and i would be looking for another job yeah the talking about it at work is so blatant because you know that it could be overheard you know it's going to get around that's just

02:56:17 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 1:

that's blatant you're flaunting it yes yes thank you thank you shannon thank you for the call

02:56:26 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 3:

You're welcome. Bye, guys.

02:56:28 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 1:

Sarah, has he contacted you in the time that we've talked?

02:56:35 - 02:56:43 | Speaker 6:

I mean, yeah. He just tried to dial in, and I didn't pick up. I really don't want to talk to him right now.

02:56:43 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 1:

When you guys had this happen before, and you had to go through counseling, I can't imagine how hard that had to be. But was there ever a, hey, we need to not be working with this person or not in the same place with this person?

02:57:03 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 6:

He told me I was being paranoid. I was willing to leave the job. I thought this isn't something that I want in my face every day. And he told me that, you know, it was just a physical thing with her. I was being paranoid. I needed to calm down. So I kept my job. Yeah, so master manipulator.

02:57:21 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 1:

well and yeah yeah exactly well um i want you to hang on one second okay and we're going to take some calls from some listeners and we're going to have you talk off the air with uh some of our

02:57:34 - 02:58:01 | Speaker 5:

people okay thank you cassie hi hi so um yeah i was with someone on and off a lot longer than i should have been i he cheated on me a lot and we were married for three years and even after that for almost four we were on and off and we had a child together i thankfully was finally smart

02:58:01 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 1:

enough to get out of there wow who is the woman he was cheating with or were there multiple

02:58:07 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 5:

uh there was multiple for a while he came women multiple women and then after my son was born i I decided not if you are too worried about being with them and spend time with them and not our newborn child. Oh, yeah.

02:58:22 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 1:

So is he at least a parent in the picture?

02:58:26 - 02:58:31 | Speaker 5:

No, he's got a total of seven kids, and he doesn't see any single one of them.

02:58:32 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

That had to be a hell of a father's day. What's going on, Courtney?

02:58:36 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how are you?

02:58:38 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on? Where are the roses? Comments.

02:58:41 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 7:

I was saying that at the end of the day, his loyalty, the husband's loyalty is to Sarah, not to Rose. So I was agreeing with Shannon about putting hands on her. It really should be putting hands on him because he was the one that was supposed to, he gave his vow to her, not to, you know.

02:59:01 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's definitely the one that needs to be on the straight and narrow. That Rose girl is hoping that there's a crack in the foundation there that could get him away from that girl.

02:59:13 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 2:

But at this point, his loyalty is to himself. He's not loyal to either of them. And Rose probably gets cheated on, too.

02:59:20 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, is she smart enough to realize that? Hey, Sarah wants to comment on Sarah. What's up, Sarah?

02:59:26 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Well, I just agree with the caller that said put hands on Rose, but I also agree with put hands on the husband. Need to put hands on both of them because they both knew.

02:59:36 - 02:59:42 | Speaker 1:

By the way, let's not even put hands on anybody just because I just don't want to get ourselves into any trouble. Yeah, I don't want anyone to accept a charge.

02:59:44 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Metaphorically, I guess, hypothetically, if she knew she is just as in the wrong, in the husband, and it sounds like with the comments that she's making at work that she is absolutely aware and that she's kind of antagonizing Sarah by doing something.

03:00:00 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 2:

though, because if you don't know and you're just playing it aloof, then it's, you know, innocent. She really doesn't mean anything by it. But if she knows and she's just sitting there talking about my man, my man, my man got this, knowing that it's all the same stuff that Sarah's husband just got, like, there's probably not a stupid person. She's going to put two and two together clearly because here we are. I don't, you know, it's one of those things where they've

03:00:22 - 03:00:42 | Speaker 4:

got to work in a place that got a lot of people, because if it worked in a place like ours, where we all see each other every single day uh it would be tough to be able to go and see that person walking around the hallways desiree had this happen we were talking about how many times can they cheat on you before you finally just had enough what's up desiree hello good morning

03:00:42 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 3:

good morning um my kids that it was about about 20 different women oh and i struggled with it for the longest time and i'm when i say women i mean back to back it was multiple and you know it sucks because the only way that I found out was having to go through your phone. And if I have to do that, like my husband, my current husband now says, if you've got to go through my phone, it's time to go. I haven't had that issue. But during the span of the relationship with their dad, it was turmoil, and I couldn't talk to anybody about it. He had the weirdest narcissistic personality disorder that I can – it's hard to really put it into words. He was evil. So he didn't really care about anybody's needs except his own. And now with the children, I think he has six. And he's only been involved in one of their lives.

03:01:34 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so sad.

03:01:36 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 3:

My children were two and four.

03:01:39 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 4:

That's sad. And you heard that caller earlier that said that they had to get seven. I mean, it's like, it's unbelievable, these guys. Yeah. Where do these guys find the money?

03:01:48 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, and where is he meeting these women? Where was he meeting all these girls? At hotels, at their houses. When I first found out about the first cheating, I was a year into the relationship.

03:01:59 - 03:01:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:01:59 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 3:

And he told her that I was the maid. The maid. And this was before we even started having children. I was the maid. You can't afford a maid. How am I the maid?

03:02:10 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

03:02:10 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 3:

I never understood that. But he had a great way of talking women out of their drawers.

03:02:17 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Unreal. What's his first name? Don't say his last, but what's his first name?

03:02:21 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm a stating, I don't care.

03:02:23 - 03:02:46 | Speaker 4:

No, don't say his last name. I won't say his last name. His first name is Damien. Well, there you go. There you go. It's Damien, for God's sakes. The whole co-worker situation is an interesting one. Dealing with co-workers in a cheating situation. A says this is going on at their office. You had to deal with co-workers that were cheating on each other?

03:02:47 - 03:03:34 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So I had a co-worker and he had a girlfriend, but he was like the corporate office whore. And then I had a friend who was just like the married woman stuck by her husband was good. But one day she decided to give in to temptation and they did it and they were hanging out and he whined and dined her. And then we like, it was weird. We all had a bonfire and she was there. They were acting like a couple. and then two days later I had to choose sides on whose friend I was because it blew up because she caught feelings and he went and messed with somebody else in the office and she saw it and she was just like so distraught and I'm like, you're married, so what are you doing?

03:03:35 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 4:

What did it mess up more, the marriage or your office? Did people in the office get screwed up more? The office. Isn't that wild? What kind of work did you guys do?

03:03:44 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 1:

um we just like did corporate for an insurance company so like we all sat next to each other we had a close like friend group we were all so cool it's amazing you would think that that would

03:03:56 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 4:

be kind of like a normal tame job but things get crazy huh yeah and then he just went and

03:04:02 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 1:

messed with a bunch of other women and we would hear how like she hated it and she was so disappointed and i told her don't catch feelings because you don't work and i would actually be

03:04:11 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 4:

the guy on the other end that was just trying to get my insurance taken care of. Now I know exactly what these people are doing. I'm a hoesolo. Unreal. Why don't you say hi to the Louie's Bourbon Boys team. These are the guys that I was in Kentucky with that had a chance to kind of hang out with it. Bourbon Steve. Keith. Our good friend Louie. Louie Yeldo from the Brass Mug. Of course the captain of the team Brian Reif and our newest member of the team jordan jonah we all went to kentucky to go hang out with each other we had such a good time um hung out with each other uh had some drinks and i got a couple good topics you want to hear a good topic i got out of this deal so keith uh keith is a great guy by the way he works for uh bob dylan's bourbon

03:05:00 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 5:

It's Heaven's Door bourbon, which is really good stuff. So Keith gave me a great topic about his friend and their wife, and he's friends with both of them. The wife admitted to him something that I wonder if Chelsea's ever pulled. I bet you that there's other wives that have done this. The wife admitted to Keith, his buddy's friend, admitted that when her husband comes to bed that she fakes that she's sleeping so she doesn't have to have sex with him i want to know how many people have done that because doesn't that sound like something like she just sits there and pretends like she's sound asleep going oh god please just let him go right to bed just let him go right to bed just let him go right to bed yeah close your eyes tighter and she said especially after they have like one of those nights where they're all hanging out drinking and stuff like that she'll go oh i'm gonna go to bed a little early and he'll go i'll be right there and she's like good i get a little bit of time to kind of get away have you ever done that in your life so here's the thing with with west here's the thing

03:06:09 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 3:

with west that would never work because he does not care he would wake me up as he does a lot of

03:06:16 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 5:

the time anyway and you don't ever tell him he would just wake me up i'm tired yeah yeah don't

The only time I fake sleep is like when I was in a relationship and her friends would come over and I feel like being bothered. Yes. I don't fake like I was through the sleep or something like that.

03:07:32 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. If you've ever done this thing where you faked sleeping so that you didn't have to have sex. Kool-Aid Lady is on with us right now.

Kool-Aid Lady, question. Oh, wait. Let's ask you this question. have you ever faked sleeping so that you didn't have to have sex with that sexy man of yours?

03:08:16 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Let's put it like this. When I get to the bed, I crash like a bomb, you know?

03:08:22 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 5:

So you're not faking. You're really sleeping.

03:08:26 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 2:

I'll be knocked out.

03:08:27 - 03:08:30 | Speaker 4:

That's after y'all finish doing a deed, right?

03:08:31 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 2:

No, I'll be like, you know, because sometimes I stay up late working on that project, and then I crash like you ain't never seen a bum crash before, right?

03:08:44 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 4:

You know Mojo in the Hall of Fame, right? Oh, yeah?

03:09:24 - 03:09:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi, first time, long time. Abby is all right, Abby.

03:09:28 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

03:09:30 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 1:

So my fiance, we've been together for like eight years, and he's a third-year ER resident and there it's all the time he never wants to have sexy time because he's just exhausted all the time and I'm like okay I guess you can sleep yeah does he fake

03:09:47 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 3:

sleep or he just is you just know he's tired and he's not gonna he's not gonna be up for it

03:09:52 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

he's just tired and I just know he's not gonna be up for it and I'm just like okay like sometimes I'll even put on some lingerie or something

03:10:00 - 03:10:03 | Speaker 4:

and nothing happened. So I'm like, I'm not doing that anymore either.

03:10:03 - 03:10:42 | Speaker 1:

I want to know who these guys are. Like, how did you get the girl that wants to have sex and you're saying no to that? That's nuts. It's wild. He's like, wives all day. I'm telling you, I'm like the mailman. Seriously. Doesn't make a difference. What? Rain or sleep. I don't care what it is. Right, Cal? You're delivering. I'm telling you. Right? I have sex right now. No. misty is wait hold on this topic changed from the topic of fake and sleeping now is a topic of my man won't have sex with me misty are you there yeah i'm here he withholds sex he does oh yeah

03:10:42 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 4:

because he thinks that's how he you know punishes me when he's upset okay that's not that is not

03:10:48 - 03:10:54 | Speaker 1:

good what is he what is he upset about although wives do that to their husbands yeah yeah we've

03:10:54 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 4:

been together for 15 years so we might as well be married but yeah so what is he uh usually upset

03:10:59 - 03:11:12 | Speaker 3:

about what's what's his thing that he gets upset about well the newest thing is he lost his job because he was on vacation and i didn't know who he took on vacation so i thought he quit his job

03:11:12 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 2:

wait that's his decision too you say you didn't know who he took on vacation

03:11:18 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 1:

No, he faked it She thought he was on vacation He actually lost his job And so she got mad at him That's not your problem Honestly, I'd withhold sex from him for doing something like that to you

03:11:31 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well I have a mom, a battery operated vibrator That I keep under my pillow What's his name? Todd

03:11:39 - 03:11:44 | Speaker 1:

The vibrator Wait, what did you call him?

03:11:44 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 4:

The boyfriend is Todd The vibrator is called Bob

03:11:48 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Bob, oh, it's Bob, battery-operated... Okay, I get it. Oh, Misty. Well, I hope that he finds a job. Did he find anything yet?

03:11:58 - 03:12:06 | Speaker 4:

03:12:06 - 03:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, tell...

03:12:07 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 4:

03:12:08 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Call up our advertisers, the friends that you work with, Shannon, for a job. Family Heating, Cooling, and Electrical. Yeah, see if they're looking for something. FamilyHeating.com, yeah.

03:12:17 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 4:

03:12:18 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 1:

So, well, yeah, tell them, tell them everybody needs a heating and cooling person.

03:12:23 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 4:

And so do you, you want your batteries and your thermostat before you call one of them

03:12:28 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 1:

people, by the way, hold on a second. I thought you were going to talk about Bob. I was like, this conversation has really gone off the rails.

03:12:40 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Remember these songs.

03:12:41 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 4:

See how well you do in the throwback throwdown

03:12:50 - 03:12:52 | Speaker 3:

It's tomorrow after 8 On Mojo in the Morning

03:12:52 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 1:

While everybody was out on their boats And partying this weekend Kevin was in church praying Feel me?

03:13:00 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Gotta be in the house of the Lord at all times And what did you witness at church? No, dude talking on his phone Church is one of them places where There are certain etiquette And I don't feel like we need rules on the door to say, don't answer your phone in church. Places you don't do that at. I'm sitting in the road. Josiah's sitting next to me. It's a guy in front of me, older gentleman. Old because he had like basically these headphones that I'm wearing right now. One of them old ass men who have like the headset with the old speaker. Like he work at a call center. It was like that type of vibe with a wire that I guess went down to his cell phone. You don't hear it ring. So it's not like one of those kind of things. All of a sudden, preacher doing his thing. Shout out Josh. he goes hello it's one of the things you sit back in your seat and you kind of look around like is this really happening right now and then he like no yeah i'm in church what's up nobody around me can believe that this man is actually about to continue a full-ass conversation in church it gets to a point where somebody has to say something this is a church that you know you have ushers some churches have security you think in your mind that someone who is affiliated with what's happening the service in like a leadership capacity is going to come over and say something to this gentleman because at this point it's three minutes in he's still having this long ass conversation nobody is saying anything but everybody in the front like the front of not the front of rows but rows above him they're starting to turn around in the way back because he's not realizing like it's an emergency okay let me call you right back that's cool you're having a conversation where you try to figure out what you're having for dinner later it's time to hang up the damn phone so finally i tap on the show i'm like hey excuse me would you mind like ending the call so i like you take it away from the service yeah he kind of look at me like with a little eye then the lady next to him like it's okay just gotta go he gets up still on the phone as he gets up and walks out of the sanctuary still on the phone like this can't be happening right now, bro. It's like the Lord calling. You guys.

03:15:00 - 03:15:05 | Speaker 4:

people are so attached to their phones they'll talk anywhere they will it'll be that's insanely

03:15:05 - 03:15:15 | Speaker 2:

i think it's rude when people talk like if i go to the nail place and get well anything done but like especially a pedicure most people are like relaxing they're scrolling yeah i cannot handle

03:15:15 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 4:

are you a phone talker when you're doing that man i'm so guilty that's so rude i sit there with that i have my airpods in and i i say i ask the person that's doing my first off they're talking about me i don't even know what they're saying like i know they're talking because they're i go to a place where they're talking their language to each other and they're talking about me. I know they're talking about me because all of a sudden they're saying something. I go, huh? And I thought she was talking to me and she's like, no, no, no, no. I'm talking and they're saying something. So I'm like, I'm just going to stay on my phone. So that's a bad thing to do? I think

03:15:45 - 03:15:52 | Speaker 2:

so. I think that's really rude. Yeah. Because everybody else is just trying to like have a moment, a peaceful moment.

03:15:52 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 4:

What I do, Shannon, is not necessarily just always on the phone. I will be there and I will watch stuff on Instagram or watch stuff on TikTok. And then if I can make a phone call or so, I'll make a phone call.

03:16:07 - 03:16:14 | Speaker 2:

But I've been there when there have been women who are just like so loud. I know everything that's happening in their life.

03:16:15 - 03:16:27 | Speaker 4:

Has anybody ever had a pastor call them out for doing this? Like, has anybody ever had the pastor stop in the middle of service and then say to that to you, you know, get out?

03:16:27 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 3:

You know, when I was a kid, I got kicked out of church before. Did you really? He made me like go to the back. Oh, let's ask that question.

03:16:35 - 03:16:40 | Speaker 4:

What got you kicked out of church? Wouldn't that be amazing if we have people kicked out of church?

03:16:41 - 03:16:42 | Speaker 3:

Is there any way? You can't be getting kicked out of church.

03:16:43 - 03:16:52 | Speaker 4:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Why did you get kicked out of church? this would be one of those ones where you would be like get that you know get that person out of

03:16:52 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 3:

here the way my mom tells it to me because i was i was i was couldn't have been more than 10 years old but we used to have like children's portion of the church where they would bring us up on the steps and they would like talk to us and give us like a children's sermon and all the kids used to sit in the front row so it was easier to access that little area and i guess i'm laughing too loud or playing too much and the pastor is in the middle of his sermon stops his sermon and says hey you out like that's like and like made me like leave the church i i don't like the churches that

03:17:28 - 03:18:17 | Speaker 2:

keep the kids in the like the main in the main and then bring them up like that like the church west goes to does that and i don't love that because the whole time i'm so add like like all the kids like the kids are running around and they're talking and they're you know doing all the things um i like the churches that like i go to kensington i've been so bad about going to church but i go to kensington and they have like kids rooms they have their own services they do they do their own fun things yeah their own and i remember growing up we would go to cabrini and allen park with my grandmas and they had like a i thought it was kind of creepy it was like a an enclosed glass area where you would have to go sit if you were crying room a crying room that's So it was still in the church, but it was like an enclosed glass area.

03:18:17 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 4:

Catholic mass was so boring that I remember I used to sneak matchbox cars with me and I would play with them on the thing and then all of a sudden you would hear them drop on the ground and it was like, it would echo throughout the whole church and Monsignor Gorman would be like, what's that?

03:18:34 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 2:

He was talking to say that? Did they have a crying room?

03:18:35 - 03:18:43 | Speaker 4:

That's the Lord, Monsignor. They did, but I was too big for the crying room. Like it was only for babies. You don't put little, you don't, yeah.

03:18:43 - 03:18:48 | Speaker 3:

How do you feel about people who don't put their kids in children's church and they still bring them in main church and they be in there?

03:18:48 - 03:18:50 | Speaker 4:

And the kids are in a-holes?

03:18:50 - 03:18:51 | Speaker 2:

It is really distracting.

03:18:51 - 03:18:53 | Speaker 4:

That's the one. Tristan, what's up?

03:18:54 - 03:19:28 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. I was listening to your segment. I'm on my way to my grandparents. Actually, it's kind of funny. I heard you when we were talking about getting kicked out of church. And my grandpa got kicked out of church because he has a really bad stomach and he got kicked out of church for farting super loud. I'm being dead serious It was all silent And then he looks He looks to the left of me and says It's the guy behind us That is so funny

03:19:28 - 03:19:31 | Speaker 4:

So they said to him You gotta get out of church

03:19:31 - 03:19:39 | Speaker 1:

No the pastor came up to us When we were listening to the music I think you should head home Right about now

03:19:39 - 03:19:44 | Speaker 4:

He wanted to make sure he was clean down there.

03:19:46 - 03:19:49 | Speaker 3:

Rambo. What did you get kicked out of church for? What up, Rambo?

03:19:49 - 03:19:57 | Speaker 1:

What's up? What's happening, y'all? I got kicked out of church. I was 12. I think I was in Sunday school when I was like 12. And I stood up and screamed, F the devil.

03:20:00 - 03:20:10 | Speaker 3:

I didn't think nothing was wrong with that. I thought we hated this fool. Right. Right. That's great. They should have made you a deacon. That's funny. Nick, why'd you get kicked out of church?

03:20:11 - 03:20:17 | Speaker 1:

I was young and going to church with my friends, and I was walking out. And this is back when ringtones were popular.

03:20:19 - 03:20:23 | Speaker 3:

And what was the ringtone that went off in church?

03:20:24 - 03:20:35 | Speaker 1:

It was like, throw your mother. and everybody looked at me and this lady came and escorted me out of the church

03:20:35 - 03:20:55 | Speaker 3:

is that kanye oh my god that's funny could you imagine that going off as a ringtone rob this is a wild one rob you got confronted by the pastor for something that you said on the show Yes. What happened?

03:20:55 - 03:21:09 | Speaker 2:

So back when you guys were in Clarkston giving out Kid Rock and foreigner tickets, my pastor's wife heard me on the radio talking about what did I do before church, and she called me out in front of the congregation.

03:21:09 - 03:21:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

03:21:10 - 03:21:28 | Speaker 2:

Like during an actual service? Before service started, I showed up a little bit early. The pastor's wife, everybody was sitting down, and she goes, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I heard you on the radio. So I turned back around and said, be glad I wasn't your daughter. Have a good one. I'm not. Oh, my God.

03:21:28 - 03:21:34 | Speaker 3:

That's unbelievable. Hey, the bastard's wife's listening to the show here.

03:21:36 - 03:21:37 | Speaker 2:

Ironically, now they're divorced.

03:21:37 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. First time, long time.

03:21:40 - 03:21:51 | Speaker 4:

That's a crazy story. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan. It's Mojo in the Morning.

03:22:18 - 03:22:21 | Speaker 5:
