00:01:00 - 00:01:05 | Speaker 3:

morning show. I feel like when people say stuff in threes, it's like weird for some reason. Where are we stalling for?

00:01:06 - 00:01:24 | Speaker 2:

I was trying to think of what topic we're starting with today, and then I looked over at my show sheet here. Kevin went on a first date yesterday. Actually, when he left the studio, he said, he said, guys, I gotta go. I gotta go prepare myself for my date. Prepare sounds crazy. Was it like a midday

00:01:24 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 3:

date, or what time of a day your date was it? She got off work a bit early, so I picked her up at two. And we went to the movies, started at three. Like I said, that new Denzel Washington movie is out. So I saw it already with my mom, but it's like one of the hotter movies that's out right now. A lot of people are interested because it's Denzel Washington who doesn't want to see that movie. So I said, okay, let's go together. So I picked her up, went to the movies. She's got her little blanket. Blanket people are weird for some reason. I don't know. I look at you differently. She brings a blanket with her to the movie? Like some dude.

00:01:56 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait. Blankets. She's bringing a blanket to the movie because guess who's getting some at the movie? You know what I'm saying? A little touchy-touchy. What y'all say? Touchy-touch under that blankie. I think there's some blank. That, by the way, she might as well have walked in with a condom in her hand. I mean, that's like amazing. A blanket to a movie.

00:02:15 - 00:02:24 | Speaker 3:

Sally, I look at people who bring blankets to movies like the people who use those neck cushions at airports. They walk around with those. It gives me like the same.

00:02:24 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Like strapped to their suitcase.

00:02:25 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it gives me the same type of energy. So she had her blanket. I'm like, okay, whatever. We get our popcorn, we get our drinks, get our snacks, whatever like that. She's also a slushy person. These are like little notes that I'm starting to pick up.

00:02:36 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 2:

That's an interesting one.

00:02:37 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 3:

As a grown person, I feel like unless it's like 7-Eleven and you like go get a slushy, I don't know why you do it at the movies.

00:02:41 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 2:

You can't slushy at the movies. Yeah, unless you're like six. She might as well be the one that does every single flavor of the drinks. She did.

00:02:48 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 3:

She did that. Well, she did cherry and she did blue raspberry because they didn't have Coke. So she went two out of the three that were available.

00:02:54 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 2:

I always, the whole childish thing is, and they used to call it, and excuse the word, but they used to call it a suicide where you would drink every single pop together.

00:03:04 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 3:

I've done that. I've never heard the name. So after she, you know, completes her suicide, we go and we find our seats. And as we're walking to our seats, I'm not exaggerating. It's not like, I don't know if she's like, I don't know if the ground was sticky, if she just was like knock-kneed and couldn't walk. But she spilled her entire popcorn in her seat as she's going to sit down. Oh, no.

00:03:28 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 4:

All for things.

00:03:28 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

Then she starts to scoop the popcorn. I mean, you're not going to eat it out the seat. I would have looked at her even crazy. But she scoops it all on the floor and then proceeds to profusely apologize the entire rest of the day. I'm so sorry. Oh, my God. I'm so embarrassed. Oh, my God. And then wait 10 minutes. I can't believe I just did that. I'm like, dog, you shut the hell up. Then I got to share my popcorn with her. Wait a second, you guys got separate popcorns? Well, if you go to Imagine on Tuesday, you get free popcorn. And I'm not trying to eat out your same bag.

00:03:57 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so did you get, you both got the same size?

00:04:00 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no. I'm a rewards member, so I get my large, and for a dollar you can upgrade to the bucket. Oh, you made her get the free one. Yeah, for sure. She's not going to eat all that popcorn anyway.

00:04:08 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

Did you let her get candy, too, or did you tell her, no, just the free popcorn? She ain't my child. She can get whatever she wants.

00:04:13 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying? She got her popcorn.

00:04:16 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 2:

This is the first date. This is a first date, and this guy won't share a popcorn with a girl. Why do you? No, no, no. Don't you want your own? I want my own. Thank you. Really? Yeah, I want my own.

00:04:25 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 4:

I don't want there to be any awkward moments yet.

00:04:28 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 3:

There's nothing hotter than sharing a popcorn with her. I love how he tried to look at you when he asked the question to see if you were on his side.

00:04:34 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 4:

Because then I'm self-conscious about how many times I'm reaching into the thing.

00:04:38 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 3:

No, you want her reaching into the thing. No, there's no hole.

00:04:43 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no.

00:04:44 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't want her reaching.

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

The other thing, too, is cheap mother effer over here who won't even buy her candy. Like, he won't even do something great like that. What do you mean? Yesterday, he's leaving the thing, and we were talking about the prices of candy at Imagine, and he goes, you know how much M&Ms are?

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 3:

$6.95. I mean, am I wrong? Well, so what, though? This is a date.

00:05:04 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean, so what? You could be taking her out to a fine dining establishment. You're taking her to a movie. What's wrong with going to the movies? Nothing, but at least, you know, spend a little bit of money, splurge on her. You took her on Tuesdays, two for Tuesdays. Tuesday was the day that worked out. Everybody gets in for free or something.

00:05:21 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 3:

What is wrong with you? You can't go to the movies on Tuesday and not want to spend $7 for a candy? I'm the problem?

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

I'm just saying Mr. Baller over here.

00:05:29 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 3:

That's you. You money bag, mojo.

00:05:31 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 2:

So she spills her popcorn, and you just shared with her. You didn't even go and say, let me go get you another one?

00:05:36 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

No. Here you go. I'm going to just pour mine in yours. Now you got a full bag because I got the large.

00:05:41 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

Were you upset, though, that you had to give some money?

00:05:43 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

I was a little annoyed that, like, just watching somebody spill their whole popcorn and scoop it in the seat. It was an accident. I get it, but that don't mean you can't be annoyed at accidents.

00:05:53 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

How did the date go?

00:05:54 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

It was cool. I just didn't like the part of having to apologize 30 times for something. like that, though. I get it, bro. It's all good.

00:06:01 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

Because you're so embarrassed that you feel like every time you apologize, it might erase a little bit of the memory of you doing whatever you did. But it doesn't. I know. I get that way, too. Poor thing. Probably doesn't even know what the movie was about. She just, in her head, kept replaying,

00:06:18 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

spilling the popcorn. I actually feel bad for her. This is probably embarrassing that she's got to do this thing. Now you're calling her out on the radio.

00:06:26 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 3:

All she wanted was M&M. I mean, the whole time I was like, it's okay. Trust me, it's fine. Do your best to make me feel comfortable?

00:06:34 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

The only thing worse than that is a first date, and I don't know if anybody's ever had first date fails. You'll have to call us up and tell us at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The only thing worse would be taking her to dinner, and she spills, like, her drink or something all over her. The wine or something all over the table. Yeah, the wine. Or all over her. Or all over you. Could you imagine if it was all over you? Kelsey, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:06:59 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I'm sitting here listening to Kev talk, and I'm like, he's talking about bringing blankets into movies and getting slushies. I'm like, that's everything I do.

00:07:10 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 3:

I might have dated you yesterday.

00:07:13 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

What would you think if you went on a first date, Kelsey, and you spill your popcorn? First off, you go on a first date, and the guy won't let you get candy.

00:07:21 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean, let you?

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 2:

He won't buy candy.

00:07:23 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

You're building a narrative. I asked her if she wanted something. She said, no. How did we get to the point where I'm not buying her candy?

00:07:28 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

All right, then I'll take that off the picture. How about, wouldn't it have been a gentlemanly thing to do to say, let me go get you another popcorn?

00:07:35 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 6:

Well, the thing is, you could have got a large and you could have shared. That's what I did. I'm not listening. So then it was free. It was already free.

00:07:44 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

It would have been nice for him to share right from the get-go so she didn't even have to get a popcorn. Did she have to pay for her own popcorn?

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

It was free. Kelsey, Kelsey. It's free.

00:07:52 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

I got a large bucket. She got her own popcorn. because she got it for free on Two for Tuesdays.

00:07:58 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 6:

It's not. It's not, but you could have still shared.

00:08:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, you got popcorn up your ass right now. What's going on, bro? You good?

00:08:06 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 2:

It feels good.

00:08:06 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

You got an extra shot of Botox and it went to that bad part of your brain?

00:08:10 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Q? How you doing?

00:08:13 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 3:

I'm all right.

00:08:14 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Q, what are your thoughts? What are your thoughts on Kev here?

00:08:17 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

I love Tuesdays. Keep kicking wings, buy one, get one. Go to the Dollar Tree, get the candy. Preach. Wings now. Preach. Go to the Dollar Tree. I can't do it. Get your free popcorn, so.

00:08:31 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm an Imagine Ambassador. I can't tell you about the candy we did. Why, did you sneak some candy in? Did you sneak some in? Yeah, Lappy Tappy, Sweeties Fish, Sour Patch, Hershey, Kiki, and Cream. That's why she's not going to carry a purse in the movie.

00:08:46 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

That's why she carries a purse. She's got to. Yeah. That's what was under the blanket. Q, you sound like a girl meant for Kevin. What's up, Michael? How you doing, Michael? Good. How are you guys? Good. What's happening?

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm just saying she spilled her free popcorn. Just go get her another one.

00:09:03 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

It was free. Yeah. It didn't cost him anything, right?

00:09:05 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 3:

The movie about to start. It didn't cost him. Yeah. That's why you got the Bucky. You can just pour it in there.

00:09:11 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hey, Michael, quick question for you. Quick question for you. What happened? What are the odds that Kevin got laid after this one?

00:09:20 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it didn't. Oh, absolutely not. Yeah. Yeah, no, I can attest to that. Is there going to be another date? Zero. Yeah. She texted me and was like, it's my turn. I want to take you out now.

00:09:31 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

I think she's still trying to apologize. Jessica had a first date fail. What happened on the date?

00:09:38 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

So, you know how you walk in and you pay for your tickets and everything right at the counter? We get all of our stuff. We get my popcorn. We get our drinks. He gives a slurpee to large. As soon as he turns around to go walk and get the lady the tickets, he drops all his slurpee all over the floor. Oh, no.

00:09:58 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Poor guy. Do you feel...

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

They were all over his brand new shoes. They were new.

00:10:03 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

They were white, white.

00:10:05 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 4:

White, white, white. They're not white anymore. Yeah. Did you judge him on the Slurpee, or did you join him with the Slurpee? Because Kevin's not a Slurpee guy in the movies.

00:10:17 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 6:

So I'm the opposite. I did not join him on the Slurpee, but I did apologize. I'm like, it's okay, it's okay, because he looks so pissed off. I bet. It got on a, let's talk about blanket. It got on the couple in front of us blanket. You know how I feel.

00:10:32 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Were you guys in the same movie with Kevin and this girl? What's going on? How you doing, Alan?

00:10:40 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 7:

Good. So my cousin went out on the boat with me and my wife with a Tinder date. It was their first date, and he decided to wear a Steedo that was too tight. So he lost the feeling in his legs and fell off the boat.

00:10:55 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 6:

No, there is no way. Okay. Hey, that's terrible, but so funny.

00:11:01 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

It caught circulation off to his leg.

00:11:03 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

That's fantastic. Oh, my God. I didn't know that that could happen. Outside was his Speedo.

00:11:09 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we're sitting there anchored down, and next thing you know, we see him doing the little weeble wobble, and there he goes over the edge.

00:11:16 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, quick question for you. Was he doing that to try to make his junk look bigger to her? That's why he wore a Speedo in the first aid?

00:11:23 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 7:

I didn't want to know.

00:11:25 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

00:11:26 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 7:

I'm a part of youth.

00:11:27 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 4:

That's great. Thank you for the call, man. I appreciate it. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. Second date update with Kevin right now here. Will there be another? Hey, two days in a row. Why not? Okay. We'll be back. We'll be back. She was cool enough. All right. Hang on hold that. What did you guys do after the movie? Took her home. That's it? Yeah, that was it. Kiss?

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Unknown:

Nah.

00:11:47 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a little something, something. All right. All right. Did she taste like Slurpee? I'll tell you later. All right. Blue raspberry.

00:11:58 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 8:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day.

00:12:01 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

We have to go back in time.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 8:

Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:12:06 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

It was the year the Ice Bucket Challenge went viral.

00:12:08 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 3:

The challenge from Brandon Williams, Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart, and DJ Steph Floss. And I nominated LeBron Jr., Bryce Maximus, and President Obama, LL's Challenge.

00:12:18 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Speaking of Kevin Hart, Kevin Hart starred in the movie Ride Along.

00:12:25 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 1:

I'm the definition of tough. My mother was a stripper. Dance name was Ass Fault. Anybody else here been raised by a woman who clapped her ass for money? Dollars.

00:12:35 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 8:

In the big song. Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:12:46 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:

We'll give you tickets to see Lil Wayne. Let's go to Nathan. I heard the click, Nathan. I think you got the answer, don't you?

00:12:54 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Yes, sir. Happened in 2014. Give it to him. Yeah, Nathan.

00:12:59 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 4:

Congratulations, buddy. We got Lil Wayne tickets for you.

00:13:03 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. Appreciate it. My wife will be happy.

00:13:05 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Is she a big fan?

00:13:07 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she grew up listening to him. I grew up listening to you guys on the east side of the state, and now I'm listening to you on the west side of the state.

00:13:14 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

I love it. You're one of the eastsiders that moved to the west side. Smart man. What a great place to live, isn't it? Yeah, it's pretty nice. You'll see me there after I call it quits. I'll be hanging out there with Mike and Allie. They promised to let me live in their bathroom. Or better, no, bedroom. Oh, there you go. Basement. I don't know where they let me live. We're giving you Lil Wayne tickets. So where would it be? Lil Wayne tickets. Awesome. August the 23rd. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com. Win them from us tomorrow morning again with the Back in the Day.

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 8:

Low Joy in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:13:48 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon with What's Going On in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, I'm getting excited. Stanley is going to be back with us in just a couple of minutes.

00:13:55 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 2:

I am obsessed with Stanley from the 5 at 6.55.

00:13:58 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 4:

Stanley has to hopefully win 15. I want him to win 15. But either way, he has to become a misfit some way, somehow. Have we profiled Stanley yet on any of our social media? Oh, like posted his picture? Let's have Stanley, if he wins today, let's have him do a video saying, hey, I'm Stanley, and introduce himself to the listeners.

00:14:19 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 6:

All right, let's do it. I'm done.

00:14:19 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 4:

I love that guy. All right. What's happening in this dirty?

00:14:22 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Have you guys seen Post Malone's new Skims campaign that he's doing for Kim Kardashian? I saw it.

00:14:28 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

Lydia sent it to us yesterday, but I didn't really check it out.

00:14:31 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

It is absolutely phenomenal. Really? Please go to the Googles. As Kev said, he's starring in a new country-themed Skims campaign, modeling the brand's latest men's collection. So think camo print boxer briefs, which he does model in several photos, hoodies, joggers, t-shirts. And the visuals they have him in, like the scenarios of him driving a tractor, he's riding a horse, he's fishing on a ranch, wearing all of his skims.

00:15:00 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 4:

and praising him for embodying the spirit of Skims man with his natural energy and style.

00:15:07 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 2:

Everybody's wearing Skims. You know what's funny?

00:15:13 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 4:

By the way, let me just say this. The collection drops tomorrow, and they said it's going to sell out in a couple of hours. So if you want to get your guy these Skims, make sure to set an alarm.

00:15:23 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 2:

He is kind of a badass, and he looks like a good cowboy. You know, like you can play off the whole cowboy thing. And being from Texas, I'm sure that that helps But have you worn skims? No

00:15:33 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 4:

I am a... Oh, are you talking to Kev or me? I love skims

00:15:36 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 2:

Kev or guy skims, Kev, are great Really? Oh my God

00:15:41 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 4:

The girls, everything The shaper, the pajamas, the underwear It's all good

00:15:45 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm a fan of women in skims I've never tried any of them

00:15:47 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 2:

These shirts are so comfortable Like honestly, like they have... I buy some skims This is all I have I have like three black t-shirts that I bought And they are so comfortable They're like almost like silky, but they don't look like you're wearing silky. I don't know. They're great to sleep in. I love them.

00:16:05 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 3:

Shout out Kim Kardashian.

00:16:06 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 4:

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler is denying his ex-wife Kristen Cavallari's claim that she never got a penny from him following their 2020 divorce. And he said at this point, this is borderline slander.

00:16:21 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 1:

Irresponsible. I think it's reckless. I think it's borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got. It's insanity. And it's a completely false, completely, completely untrue. It is. It just is. I've got a divorce decree. I've got something that's signed by the judge. It's like 67 pages or something. It says exactly. It says the number breakdown.

00:16:50 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 4:

This all started, by the way, when Kristen Cavallari made a statement in an episode of her E-series, Honestly Cavallari, where she also clarified that the lifestyle brand that she owns, it's called Uncommon James, was entirely funded by her and not at all supported by her ex-husband. And do you guys remember the story of that Chinese scholar who tried to smuggle a bunch of lab material, like roundworm material, into a University of Michigan laboratory? Yeah.

00:17:19 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 2:

What happened to that?

00:17:20 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday, she pleaded no contest to U.S. authorities. The name, I'm going to butcher it, but Chen Wan Han, I believe is how you pronounce her name, is facing three smuggling charges and charges for making false statements to U.S. Custom and Border Protection officers. She is accused of sending four packages containing hazardous biological material from China to the U.S. And prosecutors said the packages were addressed to individuals associated with the laboratory over at U of M. There were some communications on her cell phone that made it very obvious she was aware of what she was doing and the severity of sending these particular materials. On June 8th, she arrived at Metro Airport and during interviews with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, she made false statements when asked about what was in these packages that she had shipped in terms of the material. So because of this plea yesterday, she could now spend up to 25 years in prison for what she did.

00:18:22 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Speaking of U of M, later this morning, you're going to do the story about the police alert for all the college girls on campus at the University of Michigan?

00:18:32 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, who are just moving in, who just moved in. There is definitely a situation that you need to be aware of if you have a student there. So we'll talk about that. For all of today's Dirty Everything You Missed, you can catch up by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

00:30:10 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 5:

Mojo, you're going too wild over this Stanley guy, man. You're acting like you're going to hoist this guy Stanley up like he's the Stanley Cup or something.

00:30:18 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I got excited about him, man. You know what I got excited about the most with Stanley is? I can see myself in Stanley. I see him. I swear. I can tell.

00:30:39 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 2:

When Stanley would come on, all of a sudden, Mojo's side of the table would raise a little bit. That was from the energy.

00:30:48 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 3:

The energy. Yeah, thank you. Ken, what's up, Ken? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:30:54 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 4:

00:31:00 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. Here we go.

00:31:01 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 3:

The Post Malone question? How was her cheating?

00:31:05 - 00:31:12 | Speaker 4:

So you asked the question, and then she paused for so long and didn't answer it at the very last question, Post Malone. You think she Googled?

00:31:12 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 3:

I think Kev wanted her to win, so he gave her more than three seconds. I do like kebabs. Yeah, he did. I'm going to go back and listen to the podcast.

00:31:19 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 4:

Kevin is a Stanley hater. Kevin is a Stanley hater.

00:31:21 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How are you?

00:31:38 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm very sad, Brie. Today was a tough loss.

00:31:42 - 00:31:51 | Speaker 5:

I feel like it's your fault. I feel like you jinxed Stanley. With all the extra Stanley clips and all that, I think you jinxed him today.

00:31:51 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 3:

I think that it was Zach, me, and Victor. because we put all the time into these drops, you know? We put all the time into a Stanley tribute. But you know what? That's what you do for the ones you love. You put all the time in for them. Ryan, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. If you missed it, Stanley lost in the 5 at 6.55 in an upset loss.

00:32:13 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I didn't miss it. I mean, you got to slow it down. I mean, you're man-crushed, man. I think he lost on purpose. He probably freaked him out. He was scared.

00:33:28 - 00:33:28 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:33:29 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mom. Emily.

00:33:33 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey.

00:33:34 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 3:

How are you? We're going to do five lies. I'm doing good. Are you ready for this? I'm doing good.

00:33:38 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

00:33:38 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 3:

We're great.

00:33:39 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm so ready.

00:33:40 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 3:

All right. Is mom fun?

00:33:43 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

Mom is so fun. She's going to freak out.

00:33:45 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So what are we doing here, Bianca?

00:33:47 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 1:

So Emily's moving back to college tomorrow, and we're going to pretend that the university messed up a little bit and now has some extra roommates that are guys. Oh, no.

00:33:58 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. All right, we're calling mom up, and we're going to do these lies. Lie number one, you're going to say, I just got a call from CMU. Lie number two.

00:34:07 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 5:

They overbooked students in the dorms.

00:34:10 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 3:

Lie number three. Two guys are living in my dorm until they have a place to stay. Lie number four.

00:34:20 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 5:

Abby said they're moving in today.

00:34:23 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 3:

And lie number five. One of the guys is already texting me and wants to cuddle at night. All right. We're calling mom up. You ready? You ready?

00:34:42 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 5:

hello hey mom yeah hello hey hi so i just got a call from central from beth yeah um they overbooked our dorms

00:35:00 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 4:

i now have two roommates i have one in my room and one in abby's room oh that changed things but yeah but um we're thinking that me and abby are going to room together because um the problem is is it's two guys they're living um with us until they have a place to stay that's so weird yeah then you and abby and yeah i don't know abby said that one of them showed up today without uh her knowing and so she called beth obviously and She was like, hey, what's going on? Beth didn't even know about it.

00:35:32 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 5:

So all of those rooms are full?

00:35:33 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 4:

Your whole floor? Yeah, the entire floor is full. And they don't want to put them on a not-HPRC floor, so they want to put them with us. So they're going to be with us. So Abby was talking to one of them this morning, and they made a group chat this morning.

00:35:49 - 00:35:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:35:49 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 4:

And one of the guys has been texting me, and he's been really weird. And he goes, can we just cuddle at night? Ew. And I have to live with him, Mom. Like, I don't know what to do, and I'm freaking out. I don't want to do that.

00:36:04 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 5:

Well, you could always stay home and go to Wayne State.

00:36:08 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to go to Wayne State. All of my friends are there. Like, I'm living with two dudes that want to say that they want to, like, huddle with me at night. That's weird. Do you have that text message?

00:36:21 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You want me to call the school? I mean, they're going to tell me to screw off because, you know, you're an adult now.

00:36:28 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 4:

Why are they're allowing two guys in my dorm? That's weird. Great. I would call. You've already talked to Beth or no? Yeah, she told me that there's not much that she can really do. Oh, my gosh. She's still texting me. She just said, hey, babe, I am so excited to cuddle and make love with you. What the heck? Are you sure it's not a joke? No, Mom, I promise. Beth called me, and then Abby's been texting me a bunch about it, and she's freaking out.

00:36:58 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 5:

Um, so who would I call? You want me to try calling?

00:37:07 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 4:

I think, yeah. Why? He just said, you're so sexy. What, Abby? Oh, my God, Mom, this is freaking me out. I don't want to do this. I understand that. All right, so don't respond to him.

00:37:24 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 5:

And...

00:37:24 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom.

00:37:27 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what?

00:37:28 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 2:

This is not one of the guys that's rooming with Emily. This is actually Mojo from Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:34 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Emily Jean, you got me again. Again? Oh, my gosh, Mojo. I've seen every morning Mojo, and I should have not fallen for this. I know five lines. I know five lines. Oh, my gosh.

00:37:50 - 00:37:54 | Speaker 2:

Emily had you on five lines to tell your mom. And she was good. She was amazing.

00:37:55 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 5:

Emily. Oh, I'm glad I didn't drop a bunch of bad words.

00:37:59 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 2:

She's, by the way, got two new guy roommates. One is Mojo. The other one's Kevin. Well, at least they're cool guys. Oh, there you go. Most of the time. By the way, I don't think you have to worry about them setting them up with, like, these guy roommates. You've got to worry about every single guy on that campus.

00:38:18 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's true. And I know they have co-ed housing. And so I was like, okay, if it's temporary, we're going to make this work. I will call someone. We can figure this out. I cannot believe you just got me, Emily. Oh, my gosh. So that's why she told me she needed to talk to her. Exactly.

00:38:31 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Are you excited for Emily to go back to school? Are you sad? How are you feeling?

00:38:35 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 5:

More than ever right now. More than ever. Get her ass out.

00:38:40 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:43 - 00:38:44 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:38:45 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:38:48 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 2:

That's a cool mom, by the way. All right, Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon did the unthinkable and you know it's more embarrassing than like having I don't know your booger in your nose and nobody tell you she accidentally liked an Instagram picture

00:39:06 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 1:

do you guys have those people that you follow on social media that you don't actually you don't follow but every once in a while you go to their page to like check up and see what they're doing you're kind of curious you lurk a little bit you snoop a little bit so I have a few of those people and I was doing that the other night in bed. I was checking up on one of those individuals and Smith was in bed with me and he is like a wiggle worm man. The kid does not stop moving and so as I'm like scrolling on Instagram, he's doing whatever, he hits my elbow and I accidentally liked the most recent photo on this person's Instagram and it was like slow motion where I was like, no!

00:39:53 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 4:

Kind of like, like, like, like, like, like, like.

00:39:55 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 1:

It liked it, and I'm thinking, oh, F, I can't. Unlike because some people have notifications set up.

00:40:03 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 6:

Right.

00:40:04 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 1:

So they probably already got a notification in that instant that I liked the photo. It would be weird if I unliked. So I'm like, what do I do? So I had to just go hit follow.

00:40:17 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 5:

And you followed them?

00:40:19 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 1:

And followed them. And I was like, Smith, dang it. Yeah. You don't even understand what you just did. uh so so it's that is the worst when you accidentally hit that little heart

00:40:33 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 5:

and you don't mean to i've always wondered and i guess it they do get the notification because i guess i i did this did i do this to you lydia yeah you did you liked one of my pictures from

00:40:44 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 1:

back in like 2014 that's the worst okay at least this this was truly the most recent photo so it didn't look like i was really deep diving why do they not have the technology where they can take

00:40:57 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 5:

that away like immediately like you can just you know undo you know how they don't they have like

00:41:02 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 1:

a thing where you can undo text messages on iphone yes except okay the edit is fine the unsend is stupid to me because it still says that you unsent a message yeah so anytime i've ever done that the person that i'm texting is like well what did you just unsend right well and also in a group text

00:41:19 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 5:

If the people don't have the latest update on Apple, it stays in there. You can still see it.

00:41:22 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 6:

See, that's my question, though, when it comes to Instagram and the likes. To Shannon's point, if you have your notifications turned on to where I like a picture and the banner pops up that says, Kev knows likes your picture, that's one thing. If they don't have that and they have to go into the app and hit the little heart tab to see who's following them and who's like them, does it remove it from there also?

00:41:43 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I don't know the technicality.

00:41:45 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. So I don't have notifications on my Instagram. Okay. So I can't answer that question for you. But I know a lot of people who do, and so I can constantly see on, you know, like my friends or my sisters. She gets a notification.

00:41:58 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 5:

Get your phone real quick, Shannon. Try it. Hey, Kara, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:42:03 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So first of all, first time long time. Hey, Kara. Kara on the phone. Thanks. And can I give a shout out quick before I forget? Okay. I want to just shout out the Bronco Bus. They're my best friends at work, and we all listen to the show, and we're always texting about the show.

00:42:20 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 5:

Wait, explain what that is. What is that?

00:42:25 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, one time, the four of us, we had to road trip over to the east side. We live in Muskegon, and my friend had just gotten a new Ford Bronco, so we called it the Bronco Bus, and now that's the name of the group chat.

00:42:38 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. All right, I like it.

00:42:39 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 3:

Yep. Very cool. Okay, so my story is back when iPhones were still kind of new, And on Facebook, when you'd tap on somebody's photo, the squares would show up around their face, you know, where you could tag. Yes. You could see who was tagged. Yes. I was creeping on a guy who I thought was really hot in college. And I was, like, scrolling way back in his profile pictures.

00:43:05 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 2:

And I tagged myself in one of his photos on Facebook. No. That's worse.

00:43:13 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 3:

I tapped on the photo and the square, well, I, you know, I, the, my, a square popped up and I was like, oh my gosh, no, no. But my, you know, a list of names used to populate below the square and I was trying to get out of it and I tagged myself and cause I, I fat fingered it on my phone and

00:43:32 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 5:

that's, that's funny. That's worse. That is worse. We love you, Kara. And love all the Bronco bus. We love you guys. What's up, Angelica? What's going on?

00:43:45 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Shannon. Hi, everybody. Good morning.

00:43:48 - 00:43:48 | Unknown:

Good morning.

00:43:49 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 4:

I was just calling to let Shannon know, just unfollow them in a couple of days. They won't notice. Or what you could do, because I do this at work. I have to do social media. Just create a whole other account and lurk on them that way.

00:44:05 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 5:

That's it. You need like a Finsta to do that. That is so funny. Have you ever given the phone over to Smith and he just randomly starts doing that? Because I've heard stories where single moms will give their phone to their kid and their kid will go into their dating apps and just start randomly start pushing buttons.

00:44:25 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, that's crazy.

00:44:26 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 5:

And it gets embarrassing. Did you guys do the challenge or the test? We did.

00:44:30 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 6:

It didn't show anything. So I liked a couple of pictures, but there has to be like some type of time mechanism. Because as soon as I liked it, I unliked it, which I think is what you would do in this case.

00:44:40 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so again, but I don't have notifications, but it didn't show up in my little-

00:44:44 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 5:

In your list. My list, yeah.

00:44:46 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:44:47 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever go to look at who looked at your stories and stuff like that? Oh, yeah. Because I always find myself going through, and there's a couple people that I still follow that I don't talk to anymore, and I know that they'll see that I- looked at their stories and i always get pissed that they'll show up as one of my first ones that are up there like in the algorithm of how many people are are up there oh yeah it bums me out because of i'm like wait a second i've been trying to like miss theirs so i try to time it where i'll look up at the stories and it will show friend friend i don't like this person that much and so i have to time it i go all right okay here and then you have to see how many pictures you're

00:45:24 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 6:

looking at about you know that you can look at stories though remember kp taught us how to do this where you could look at somebody's story but not have it register that you look how do you do that are you gonna show that again but you can only do it to one so like let's say um okay so here's sarah from lucido fine jewelry in birmingham okay love you sarah so i'm gonna go to the person next to sarah which is mark rober great youtuber for kids um and i click on mark rober's which is right next to sarah and i kind of shift it but i don't let go of my finger so i can see okay sarah's doing a post about curling her hair and then i go back so it doesn't fully like show the thing i'm not explaining this right now if you're watching it won't register that i

00:46:12 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 4:

saw it since we're talking about things we hate real quick i hate when i'm on instagram and somebody's live pops up and i make a mistake and tap their line oh my god then i gotta leave it Immediately. Same.

00:46:25 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 6:

I hate that. I feel like the lives have to be in a different area. And they get the alert.

00:46:32 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 5:

And they know who's joining us.

00:46:35 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 6:

And Kevno's left. Immediately.

00:49:20 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 6:

There were rumors, but alas, Swifties, they were just rumors. Taylor will not be performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas after all of these rumors run around that she's going to be doing her own residency following the announcement of her album, The Life of a Showgirl, spoke to a spokesperson from The Sphere, and they said, my God, that would be amazing. That would be huge for them. She's too big for The Sphere. We would love that, but they have not had a single conversation with her team, so I don't know where this started.

00:49:47 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 5:

She plays bigger arenas than that.

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

It's not about the seating, though. It's about the environment, and The Sphere has become one of those experiences, especially somebody that has the album title of Showgirl.

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 3:

want to put i expect this show maybe one girl or maybe one day you know but not not she's

00:50:05 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 8:

backstreet boys keep that yeah well let me say she is going to she's got to do the super bowl that's that has to be a must for her doing the super bowl she's never done it right no nope she doesn't do the super bowl i'll be shocked by that she wasn't able to because she didn't own her masters well now she can yeah also she wasn't able to because she was in the midst of her tour too i think that was something that kind of was a mess up for her yeah uh kelly clarkson returning to

00:50:32 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 3:

voice this week as nbc's music competition is taping footage for season 29 called battle of champions she's going to be reunited with coaches adam levine and john legend she missed a shoot after the death of her former husband the father of her kids brandon blackstock so it was a rehearsal for the battle rounds i believe that she missed jennifer hudson actually stepped up and filled in for her but if you weren't aware NBC is actually filming two different cycles of the voice simultaneously right now so premiering this fall is season 28 and we'll see Michael Buble Reba McIntyre Niall Horne and Snoop Dogg as coaches love actress Michelle Williams she was on Kimmel this week which is being guest hosted by Tiffany Haddish and revealed she secretly welcomed a fourth child via surrogate.

00:51:22 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 6:

I didn't realize you had three little ones. Three little kids. I do. I do. I have five. Can I just say that your body looks amazing because I would have never thought you had any. You got that. What we call

00:51:34 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 5:

in my community, that snapper.

00:51:37 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 6:

That snapper.

00:51:38 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 5:

Then I got to give a big shout out to Christine because this last baby did not come through my body but the miracle of our little girl is thanks to Christine. Maybe you're watching out there. Thank you, Christine. um yeah but i have uh thanks to christine um three under five at home who is michelle

00:51:57 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 3:

michelle williams is an actress i mean she's been in everything but she was with heath ledger remember her from being and and their daughter matilda is now 19 years old so she's got a 19 year old and a newborn which we talked about yesterday yeah go to the podcast and check that out. And lastly, big news coming out of the University of Michigan. There is a peeping Tom police in Ann Arbor looking for a man accused of targeting women on campus by trying to peek into

00:52:25 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 4:

their dorm rooms. Ann Arbor police are looking for a peeping Tom, a man accused of looking for college-age women and trying to peer into their bedrooms. Well, now they're putting out the

00:52:33 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

warning hoping to catch him before he strikes again. In Fox News, Dave Spencer is live in Ann Harbor with more on what we know about this guy, Dave. Yeah, what we know is that he's been doing

00:52:44 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 2:

this a lot, six to eight times, according to police, all within the past 10 days. And here's his M.O. He's looking to walk up around sides of houses or backyards, looking for either a bucket to stand on or maybe a trash can. And he moves closer to a window, and then he peers in that window as victims typically, according to police, are college-aged women. So far, police have a vague description of who they're looking for, basically a white man or who has light complexion, medium build, wearing dark clothing. All of this seems to be happening overnight or in the early morning hours. Blinds are curtains. Use them. If you don't have

00:53:22 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 7:

some installed, look at lighting in your backyard or on a side approach to a house. If you're renting, talk to your landlord and make sure they'll install or that they have proper lighting. nowadays you can get surveillance cameras fairly cheap and if you feel like you need to install one of those and then also just making sure there's not things in your backyard that someone can move over to a window and stand on and being aware of your surroundings when you come home take a look around as you're walking to your door make sure you're looking then that the person is not just waiting for you to come home it's kind of crazy huh the last time i happened by the way

00:53:58 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 3:

Monday at 1 in the morning.

00:53:59 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

Extra vigilant and to do a second glance at everything and make sure we're all locked up and safe and good to go. So, yeah, I hope they figure this out soon.

00:54:09 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 8:

They don't have much to go off of. Just a white guy wearing dark clothes. Medium build. I mean, yeah.

00:54:15 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So police are actually asking people to, like, review their security cameras and their ring doorbells and see if they notice anybody lingering around in the middle of the night to help them. Carrying a stepstool.

00:54:25 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 8:

I'll tell you, man, you know, like these kind of guys that just randomly are like on campus. Like when we were dropping Luke off, saw this guy just kind of like walking down the street. Looks like he probably lives in one of the neighborhoods right by there. I'm thinking to myself, why would you want to live in a college campus? Like, you know what I mean? Like, I know it's beautiful. Lane Harbor is obviously a gorgeous community.

00:54:43 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 3:

Unless you're a professor and you want to walk to your classes.

00:54:46 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 8:

These kids are nuts. You know what I mean? But then you see these guys that are doing this crap. He's probably driving into town and driving out of town looking at these girls. Crazy.

00:54:55 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

00:55:56 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 2:

Are you somebody that likes winter, or do you loathe it like the rest of us?

00:56:04 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 1:

I don't absolutely hate it, but we need to get down and see my stepson down in Florida.

00:56:09 - 00:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's cool. That's cute. All right. Well, hold on. You're now qualified for this. You could be the grand prize winner when we announce that after we grab two more qualifiers.

00:56:17 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Love you, guys. Love you. Love you, too. I hear for a better chance at winning, if you do a dolphin noise, it'll work in your face.

00:56:30 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 3:

That's a sick dolphin. That's like a horse. Oh, my God. It got horsey.

00:56:34 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 2:

By the way, speaking of that, I got two stories for you to be careful of, okay? Are you ready for this one? Yeah. Two stories when you go down there. Be careful what you wish for. Story of guys. I think this was off the coast of the Carolinas. uh oh no no it wasn't florida guys were uh were out fishing and then happened upon a shark and caught a shark they decided to bring it to shore to take a picture with it and then they were going to release it and let it go well the shark bit bit one of the guys and now the guys in the hospital with almost a lost limb because of the whole thing you know what i deserves that

00:57:13 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 1:

you hate to say it but when you do things like that what do you expect you're taking it out of

00:57:18 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

It's Habitat, you know?

00:57:19 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to take him to show you a picture. Yeah. Like, no.

00:57:22 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you can guess. White dudes. Stupid things white dudes do. And then here's another story. This one's about a woman. Can you imagine this happening to you? A Florida woman hiking at the Crue Bird Rookery Swamp Trails, which is in Collier County, tripped over an alligator, which ended up biting her arm and leg.

00:57:47 - 00:57:47 | Unknown:

Jesus.

00:57:47 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 2:

Why are you hiking in an alligator area, in a swampy area? She needed surgery, faces infection risks from the alligator's mouth. Experts are urging to stay at least 10 feet from the water's edges, avoid wildlife zones, never hike alone. If you get surprised by an alligator, go into survival mode using any of the objects around you to defend you. You know what's funny? Let me tell you this story, Courtney. So I was visiting Joe and Jed, his producer, the Joe Show with Joe, Ashley, and Jed. So we were golfing, and Jed was giving me tips on how to run away from an alligator. And he was telling me about how you have to run sideways.

00:58:36 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 1:

What? Really?

00:58:37 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 2:

So we're down in Florida, and he says, so he's like, here you go, Moj. This is what you got to do. And he's like, you got to shuffle like you do in basketball. Oh, my God.

00:58:47 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Bianca, get this on video. I need a video of this. Do it, do it, do it.

00:58:50 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 2:

I'm impressed.

00:58:52 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 3:

Lateral quickness. That's the most athletic I've ever seen here.

00:58:55 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 2:

That's what he's telling me. I said to him, I go, Jed, I watched you guard guys in basketball, and I know how I've guarded guys in basketball. They dribbled right past me and went in for layups. He's a young and ace. This alligator's going to bite the crap out of me.

00:59:07 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 1:

They can't move sideways?

00:59:09 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 2:

They supposedly cannot. They can't go sideways. Wow. No. Yeah.

00:59:13 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

This is one of those random tidbits of information that is going to save somebody's life who's listening right now. Yes.

00:59:18 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

And then the other thing, the other story I got to tell you guys about Jed, this is funny. Courtney, you got time?

00:59:24 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 3:

Yep, yep. Okay.

00:59:25 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 2:

So Joe calls me yesterday to tell me that the, what is it, Polinis County or something like that, Penis County, whatever the county is down in Florida, came to the radio station, the FLZ, I heard, Tampa, Florida radio stations, and asked if they could practice an active shooter drill in their offices, in their building, because their building is a perfect building for the SWAT to go in there and practice.

00:59:54 - 00:59:55 | Unknown:

What?

00:59:55 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

So they went in, and they literally had a team of like 100 people.

01:00:00 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 1:

People do a whole thing where they practiced and pretended to do this. Can you call Joe and see if Joe's available? See if they're available down there? So they asked for the members of the show if they would be part of this thing, and only Jed was the one that volunteered. Guess what they made Jed? The shooter.

01:00:19 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 5:

No, they did not.

01:00:21 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:00:23 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 1:

So they made Jed the active shooter, And here was the actual thing they came up with. Jed was a morning show host on a radio station who did the show with his wife, who happened to be some lady that works there too. And his wife was caught cheating on him with another co-worker at the station. And Jed got mad, came into the building to shoot the place up. And they had Jed do the acting of the whole thing. And then they had those guys come in and take Jed down. This is crazy. Can I tell you? I thought that was more of a comedy. It was.

01:00:59 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 2:

At least did they film this?

01:01:01 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 1:

They said, I think that they might have. Jay said, Joe actually and Tommy Chuck, their program director, told me that Jed was like into it. He was too good. He was too good to be acting. He was calling. He was calling. It was crazy. They said that it turned out that they were watching this thing. And the shooter guy, or the guys, the SWAT guys, said they've never had a more realistic.

01:01:29 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Hey, pay attention to the signs. Method acting.

01:01:33 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, it's always one. Joe said, Joe goes, Dad, he goes, I just got to tell you something. He goes, just when you think that Jed can't do something. He goes, it was amazing. So, Courtney, hold on. I'm going to get you to Lydia. Those guys are probably in the midst of something. They are.

01:01:50 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 2:

We're in the middle of a topic right now. They don't have time.

01:01:52 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 1:

Just text them and ask them if they're going to talk about it on their show. And if they are, just have them send me the audio because I want our listeners to probably hear them talk about it. Because it was, I'm not kidding you, hearing them tell the story and talk about that, which I thought was actually kind of wild. I would love to help the cops out with something like that. You know what I mean?

01:02:12 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 2:

Who would we make our active shooter?

01:02:14 - 01:02:15 | Unknown:

I don't know.

01:02:16 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 1:

I'll do it. I'll volunteer. You want to do that?

01:02:20 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, for sure. I was thinking only if one of you all is the negotiator.

01:02:24 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 1:

I was thinking that guy in the traffic department.

01:02:27 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 2:

That would actually scare me to do here, I think. For real? Yeah. I mean, it's easy.

01:02:32 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:02:33 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't seem like we have much defense.

01:02:37 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 1:

We got glass windows and stuff here.

01:02:39 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 2:

I remember Josiah came home one day. He was like, dad, we had a... Somebody came in.

01:02:43 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 1:

Did an Alice drill or something?

01:02:44 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, something like that.

01:02:45 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it's called for like active shooters? Yeah. He was like, what's the point if they're teaching everybody? Now one of the kids in the class knows exactly what to do if they're the shooter. It's like they don't know exactly where we are.

01:02:56 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, you got to hope, right? That's not the case. Misfit Tony is on the phone with us just to say hi. What's up, Tony? How you doing? Hey, Tony?

01:03:10 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm right here. Hi, Tony. What's up, Tony?

01:03:13 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 1:

Tony, the DoorDash delivery guy.

01:03:16 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 3:

I was just thinking this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Jeff, bro, the black dude can't volunteer to be the active shooter. Listen, I know. They don't kill you. You say don't volunteer for that. They don't take it too serious. Bro, the black dude, let Mojo do it.

01:03:38 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 1:

Tony, the black dude's never the active shooter. That's what I'm saying. It doesn't happen.

01:03:44 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 2:

He said they might get trigger happy.

01:03:46 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no.

01:03:47 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

They're going to hit him with, like, 30 bullets. Tase him!

01:03:53 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 1:

Listen, Tony, that is right. Yeah. Who would Shannon be in this one, Misfit Tony? Because, you know, would Shannon be the girl hiding under the desk, or what would she be?

01:04:05 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Shannon, she crying under the desk, like, oh, my God.

01:04:10 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 5:

It's accurate. It's accurate.

01:04:12 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Can we just get a Demi Moore one time? It's somebody that's going to stand up to something. It's a G-I-J. And then Shannon probably got her phone on do not disturb like all the young girls. So she's going to call her husband. He's not going to answer. He's going to call back for her boyfriend, and it's going to be in the end. Just a husband. It's just a husband, Tony. Let's clarify.

01:04:38 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 1:

You've got to keep calling your husband and your boyfriend. Hold on, Tony. Tony, stay there for one second. And Misfit Squirrel is on with us right now. What's up, Squirrel?

01:04:48 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, what's up? I'm definitely not the active shooter. How are you guys doing today?

01:04:51 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on? What are your thoughts, Squirrel?

01:04:55 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. You know, you got to watch out those signs for Jed. You know, I mean, it's a sign.

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 4:

are there and kevin volunteered slightly so you got to be careful with him you never know

01:05:04 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 3:

i sneak up on you kevin was quick i think the new morning guy on the rock station josh should be

01:05:10 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 4:

what are you saying squirt who sounds like a shooter he does sound like it doesn't he the name jed alone yeah and i love jed

01:05:29 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 3:

Jeffery is his middle name, too. They always give the first and last names.

01:05:33 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 4:

We need to make Stanley the active shooter.

01:05:38 - 01:05:38 | Unknown:

Stanley.

01:05:39 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 4:

Poor Stanley. Don't do that to him. Stanley got to come to the front of the class. He messed up today. We was all rooting for him. I know. Also, you my dog, listen, he should never have missed that.

01:05:55 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 3:

I know. That was sad. By the way, I was so disappointed this morning about Stanley's loss. I thought that the guy was going to do something big with us. You gave him a theme song. It was too much pressure. I know. It was way too much. All right. Misfit Tony, Misfit Squirrel, good to talk to you guys. Have a great day. Be safe, buddy.

01:06:16 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 4:

Hey, y'all be blessed, brothers. I love y'all. All right. All right, man. Be safe.

01:06:21 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 1:

This dating profile pic was a nine, but what showed up was a three. Second date update is after eight this morning on Mojo in the Morning.

01:06:29 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is Mojo in the morning. So I called up a buddy. So this is interesting. So we have we're having a big party this week. Chelsea's having a big party for me where the entire radio station, a bunch of our friends and a lot of the clients that advertise with this show over the years, everybody's getting together on Friday night and we're going to have fun. Well, friends of mine have flown into town to come to this party. And one of my buddies, Dennis, has always wanted to golf at one of the real nice golf places here, like the really nice country clubs here, Oakland Hills, which is like a premier place. And honestly, I can't golf there because I'm not good enough to golf there. So I had to call in help from a friend and ask him if he could get me on Oakland Hills to go golfing. so I ended up picking up the phone dialing him up and he answers the phone and when he answers the phone to say hey I can kind of hear there's commotion in the background and I'm like hey buddy I just wanted to just you know say hey I got a friend coming into town is there any way you can get me you know out on Oakland Hills whatever the deal is he's like yeah yeah no problem no listen my wife's in the midst of having a baby right now so why don't I I'll call you back afterwards and we'll we'll talk he answered the phone in the delivery room to to just to grab my call and i wanted to ask a question how much would you kill your man if your man answered the phone

01:08:06 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 2:

in the delivery room yeah i can't imagine because it happened uh well but here's the thing it depends on what stage of the delivery you're at okay really because it that can be a very lengthy process yeah do you know what i mean like if you're if if she was pushing and he answered

01:08:27 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 3:

the phone he's a dead man you would be like what's going on what are you doing you know

01:08:32 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 2:

in contractions or whatever or just like getting induced i mean i'm what's that when your guy answer the phone uh i was in every stage because mojo called every 10 minutes

01:08:46 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 3:

mojo called i called to see what was going on

01:08:51 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 2:

and my ex-husband you know wanted to make sure he understood the assignment he understood the assignment of we do a radio show and everybody was waiting for this baby which ended up being lucy to come and so he was answering the phone and it was fine but there was There was a point when, like, things were happening, and I was like, get off the phone.

01:09:16 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 3:

You're a boundary. All right, I want to ask the question. Is there any listener of ours that their baby daddy answered the phone or grabbed the phone in the middle of it or did something that he shouldn't have been doing during the labor? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500.

01:09:36 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I will say this. Like, answering a phone call or whatever, your phone call, fine. The guys who, and I think Mike, our very own Mike, did this, wanted to bring his Xbox into the delivery room and play the entire time while Allie was in labor. I think it was with Milo. And I was like, that you can't do. You got to be there for her. A phone call every now and again. Okay, fine.

01:09:59 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Look how beautiful.

01:10:00 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 5:

that baby is. Isn't that baby beautiful? Oh, he's my neighbor. Yeah, beautiful.

01:10:05 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 1:

Wait, okay, but if you're focused on a video game the entire time, well, I am in the worst pain of my life. I hate you.

01:10:12 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 6:

We're not doing anything, though. That's the thing. We're just sitting in a chair.

01:10:16 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 5:

So what were you doing? You're just sitting there

01:10:17 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 6:

doing nothing? I thought about bringing my video game, but it was like the water broke and we went straight to the hospital, so it wasn't really much time to pack, and then when I could run home and grab stuff, I forgot to grab the thing. So you're just sitting there on your phone chilling Why is she chilling? If she's chilling, then everybody's chilling.

01:10:32 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 5:

And I told Chelsea I was going to bring this up as a topic. She goes, well, you, of course, should talk about the fact that during two of the deliveries, two of the three, I had left during the deliveries. One was to go get food at the cafeteria. The other was I went home and took a shower.

01:10:48 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 6:

I remember that story.

01:10:50 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 5:

Joe's was the longest.

01:10:51 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 6:

Don't they deliver the food to the room?

01:10:52 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 5:

They didn't do DoorDash back then. There was no DoorDash back then.

01:10:55 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 6:

This was in the olden days.

01:10:56 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm talking about the hospital. You call the hospital, they didn't bring it up. It's trying to make me look old. Thank you. Did they have elevators at least? They did. They did. What's going on, Rachel? Hi, how are you?

01:11:08 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 4:

Good, how are you?

01:11:09 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 5:

Doing good. What did they do during the delivery?

01:11:13 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 4:

So my fiance, with the first one, he actually brought the Nintendo Switch, and he was playing the new Pokemon game up until he got to the pushing point. So I tolerated it for a little while. You are a saint. At the end, I wanted to be one of those girls that brought the Nerf guns to just start shooting it at him, you know?

01:11:33 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I love, though, that you said up until that one part, that was it. And then after that one part, you were like, this is all over with, right?

01:11:42 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, with the second one, it was time to push. And he had coincidentally gone downstairs to get a coffee from the cafeteria. So I had to call him, and he's running back upstairs.

01:11:52 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 5:

They did that with me. They had to go down to the cafeteria to grab me. Luckily, I was pondering turkey and mashed potatoes, ham sandwich. What's up, Caitlin? How you doing?

01:12:04 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

01:12:05 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Good. What happened?

01:12:07 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 1:

So my boyfriend at the time and I were young and dumb and had a baby at 18, 19. And when I was in labor for 24 hours, he got approved for a loan for a dirt bike. And he left me during labor to go get a dirt bike. Oh, my gosh. You pop the babies out.

01:12:23 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 6:

You pop the willies.

01:12:24 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and we named him Ryder. That's actually a great name.

01:12:32 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 5:

That's unreal. Frank, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing, buddy? Did you do something stupid like this? Frankie? Oh, we lost him. What did Frank say that he did? Do we know?

01:12:46 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

He left to go pick up a six-pack of beer. That's my guy, Frank.

01:12:52 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 5:

Hopefully he just didn't get scared to talk to us. Keisha, what's up, Keisha? How you doing?

01:12:58 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. So my husband at the time for our second-born son, he actually came out in the car on the way to the hospital. While I was giving birth in the front seat of the car, my husband pulls out his phone. After everything is done, I'm like, oh, let me see the video. He was like, oh, I was playing my video game. Oh, my gosh. Got none of that on tape? Got none of it. My son was born front seat.

01:13:25 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. Oh, my God.

01:13:28 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 2:

How is his brain working?

01:13:30 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 5:

Are you guys still together?

01:13:32 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 6:

No. No.

01:13:33 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

It was not at all.

01:13:35 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 5:

Are you still together, Tisha?

01:13:40 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 2:

We are still together. He tells the story all the time. I think he went into some type of shock, and I'm just like, sir, I was giving birth, and you're like. In the car. All right, you play Candy Crush.

01:13:50 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Alex, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:13:54 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi, first time long. Hey, Alex. Hey, Alex on the road. So when I was giving birth to my daughter, the whole time, her father was out in the waiting room with all his cousins playing poker.

01:14:08 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, bro.

01:14:09 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 3:

They had, when it was time for me to push, they had to go grab him away from the game.

01:14:14 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my. Can I ask this question? What ethnic is he? Is he, is he Chaldean? He's Hispanic. He's, okay. I was going to say, that sounds like, that sounds like Chaldean or Albanian going out and playing poker.

01:14:26 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 3:

We got to do better, bro.

01:14:28 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 5:

Having a little poker game out there. Hopefully he won money. What's up, Stephanie? How you doing?

01:14:35 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning. Good morning. First time, super duper long time. Hey! I love it.

01:14:43 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 5:

Stephanie.

01:14:45 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 6:

Stephanie on the boat. Hey.

01:14:46 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 4:

Yay! Our second child, my husband and doctor decided to watch football the whole time I was in labor.

01:14:56 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 6:

Wait, was it the Super Bowl? Or, like, what was going on?

01:14:58 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

No, it was the moment.

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 5:

It was the month of September, so things were just starting, obviously. Wait, hold on.

01:15:04 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

Your doctor was part of that, too?

01:15:07 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 5:

Yes, Mojo. He was. Amazing, amazing doctor. I could not complain one bit, but it got a little frustrating towards the end when things were starting to happen.

01:15:18 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's sad. That is, oh, these guys, not smart. Nick is on with us right now. We were talking to the caller, Keisha, who was talking about how he missed the entire birth of the baby, not having the phone ready. Nick, what happened?

01:15:34 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 4:

So I was supposed to be recording this whole time, and I was just so in shock of just the baby being born. So I just, like, lost it. And the crazy part is she had the smallest umbilical cord ever, and she came out, and when she popped out, she turned around and slapped her mom on the butt on the way out.

01:15:52 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 3:

That's cute.

01:15:53 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 4:

Good game. And you missed it. None of it captured.

01:15:55 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Did you miss it all?

01:15:58 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 4:

Missed it all.

01:15:59 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:15:59 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 4:

He didn't even see it. I was like, you got to see it. She spawned on the table and slapped you in the butt. It was beautiful.

01:16:05 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 3:

And you got none of it. You poor bastard. None of it. Oh, that's so sad. Isn't that the worst? It's the worst when you're trying to record something. You think you got it. And you look at your phone and you're like, ah, I took a picture. What's up, Gina? How you doing? Good.

01:16:20 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Good morning.

01:16:21 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:16:23 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 1:

So my husband, ex-husband, after the birth of my daughter, left the hospital before he even held her or anything to go get a tattoo of his own name on his own name. Of his own name?

01:16:38 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 4:

I like the emphasis on that.

01:16:42 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. But he forgot his own name. Oh, my God. Why in the hell did he do that? By the way, these are all exes, by the way. Do you know what this is? A lot of people are saying these are axes. There's a pattern. Hold on. Wendy, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about the dumb things people do in labor.

01:17:02 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, I was in the hospital, and they were saying that I should have the baby by dinner time. And my husband said, well, gosh, I probably have time to go get a haircut.

01:17:13 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 7:

He wanted to look fresh for the baby. Who are these guys?

01:17:17 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 6:

It gets better. It gets better. So he goes to get a haircut, which I was totally fine with. And he calls and he says, well, how's everything coming along? Do I have time to go get an oil change?

01:17:28 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 2:

He was really taking off his to-do list.

01:17:33 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. Before the baby came, he was getting everything done. That's awesome. That might be my favorite call. Did he make it back in time? He did. He did.

01:17:41 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's so funny. That was a great call. Thank you. And Kim, last but not least, Kim, we're talking about the things that guys will do while they're in the delivery room and their beautiful mother of their baby is giving birth.

01:17:55 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:17:56 - 01:17:56 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:17:57 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 7:

Hi. So my husband decided to invite his business partner in. My mother-in-law was in there. My mom. My sister. Him, his business partner, I believe. I believe that was it. But it was like a party in there. It was. Wait, what? She's a business partner. Well, she's a woman, but still. I don't know. They had to talk about business, I guess. You need to call him tomorrow. They were doing close-to-head injury cases, so I have no idea.

01:18:31 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 3:

Did the doctors or nurses say, what the hell are all these people doing in here?

01:18:35 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 7:

Well, the nurse whispered to me at one point, and she was like, do you want me to try to get them out, get them all out? And I was kind of like, I guess so. I mean, I was in pain. So I was being induced fast.

01:18:45 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 3:

Once you get that epidural, you know what I mean? That's like.

01:18:48 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I hadn't even had the epidural yet.

01:18:51 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. The business part is crazy.

01:18:54 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they wouldn't do it until I was closer. Yeah, you're right. The husband's to blame, but the business partner thinking that she could come to the hospital in your labor and delivery room and work?

01:19:02 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 3:

Got to pay for the baby. You got to pay for that baby. Did they come together? Come on. Oh, my God. Did they come together? Oh, my God. All right, hold on.

01:19:09 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, the dudes, that's a strip club. And he goes, yeah, she's going to be a while. Oh, my God.

01:19:49 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 7:

01:20:37 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 2:

No, I smelled more like beer than anything. I didn't smell like stripper. His old lady was punching him. I was married at the time. I was married at the time. You wouldn't do that. I wasn't doing none of that stuff.

01:20:48 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 3:

You're a smart guy. Smart guy, John. Thanks, Johnny. Talk to you soon, buddy. Take care. WKQI Detroit.

01:21:23 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hat All right, it is Mojo on the morning show. Good shows for Wednesdays. We've got second date update coming up in about 10 minutes from now. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We will have that for you. Coming up this hour on the show, Cav has to bribe him. Then Bianca is going to come in studio, who is our director of social impact her ex did her dirty she wants to call him out and you ever go to like one of those renaissance festivals you ever go and have a customer service issue do you ever notice that the people that you're talking to never leave character i got a funny story relating to that all coming up within the next hour here on the mojo in the morning show plus sold out benson boone tickets we will have those for you coming up in just a little bit it's mojo on the morning show cab says that josiah does not want to hang out with him anymore bro he's getting older man doesn't this suck when your kids don't want to be with you all

01:22:34 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 4:

the time it does i used to josiah has a nickname i kind of gave it to myself but it works because it's real josiah calls me the movie man my biggest thing with josiah and way we've always bonded is by watching movies together and whenever i would say hey joe come on man let's watch a movie it would be nothing for him to be like okay and like pop popcorn grab some candy if we have it and we can watch a movie together as he's starting to get older his excitement level to spend time with me decreases it seems like by the minute and it is like literally pulling teeth trying to get this man to hang out with me and he's upstairs he's on discord his little social groups they're doing voiceovers they're doing character designs and they can do this stuff all day long and i'm popping in the room hey joe what's going on shut up shut the door what are you doing he mad as hell because he got a mute he's like what do you want so i'm irritating him it got to a point where i literally had to bribe my own child to want to spend time with him i'm like josiah can we please watch a movie you like i'm doing something like all right what about for robux his head turned the fastest

01:23:43 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 5:

He's out there and he's like, huh? You said Robux? How many Robux? He's like, there's a deal right now. You did $9.99. You get $1,400 Robux. I'm like, we'll do that. He's like, all right, guys, got to go. I don't want to do this. I got to pay you to hang out with me. Oh, my God.

01:23:59 - 01:24:05 | Speaker 3:

That's so funny. By the way, I know that you're not the only parent that has had to do this. I've done this, too.

01:24:05 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 4:

What did you brought?

01:24:06 - 01:24:16 | Speaker 3:

I used to, well, Joe, I used to have to take him to Pistons games in order to hang out. Like, that was the only time it was like, you're going to go to a game? Like, it was one of those type of things. And then McDonald's was always the one. Oh, McDonald's.

01:24:17 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 4:

That was my childhood.

01:24:18 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Let's go get McDonald's.

01:24:19 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, happy meal. I'll do whatever you wanted me to do.

01:24:22 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or the text is 95500. What is it that you had to bribe your kids to hang out with you for? Like, what did you do to have to bribe them? Do girls do this, too? Like, do the daughters do this? Like, is Lucy now at a point where she's not wanting to be with you?

01:24:42 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 1:

No, Lucy's still a mama's girl, which I hope never changes. Smith, if I want him to do anything, not necessarily hang out with me, but if I need him to go anywhere with me, it's like a what's in it for me type of deal. Always, always, always.

01:24:56 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Running errands thing sucks for everybody. That just sucks. Nobody wants to go.

01:25:00 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 2:

that do that they don't want to have to i don't want to why do i got to go can't i just stay here yeah just i used to hate to go to target and then i'd be like you know they got kinder eggs at the checkout line we used to call it like my mom would would be like i'll get you a surprise it was one of those things surprise i would always get a surprise it was whatever the surprise was whatever i was going to be buying yeah um and by the way what is the you know the aisle at target right you walk you walk in to the store you go all the way back take a right usually or a left depending on how your target's set up and it's right in the middle towards the back by the electronics and that was like the couple aisles of toys oh yeah they've only got a few i lived in that aisle all the freaking time what's up jenny how you doing i'm good how are you guys this morning good cav has to bribe his son to hang out with him do you have to do this i have the same

01:25:51 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 3:

thing just two days ago i had to bribe my nine-year-old little boy to go get school clothes with a 20 roblox card i'm telling you right and you're buying the clothes for him that's amazing i said you want to go get new school clothes he said oh mom you know what it

01:26:11 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

is the kids don't find it as cool anymore and i don't know if it's because they don't have like all the cool stuff like we used to have they don't need all the notebooks and things because They've got, like, tablets and electronic devices and things.

01:26:23 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 1:

God, I used to kill for those days.

01:26:25 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 2:

I loved. My dad taking me to Staples was, like, the greatest.

01:26:28 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 1:

Bro, same. Stop playing. For a trapper keeper? Yes. Who was the greatest? Lisa Frank? No, you know what I used to do?

01:26:33 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. I'd go right to the cash register section. My dad would be like, you don't need a cash register for school? Wait, wait, wait. He was trying to get a cash register? Did you ever go into, like, a Staples or an Office Max, and they had an aisle of cash registers. What? You could buy. You could buy cash registers, yeah, and computers and things like that. But what's up, Michael? How you doing? I'm doing good, Mojo. How about yourself? We're doing good. Kev is not cool enough to have his son hang out with him.

01:27:03 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 5:

I heard. I heard me either, man, me either. I got to pay my son and V-Bucks to go hang out or to do chores, to do anything. And my daughter is obsessed with Roblox, so I got to buy her Robux.

01:27:16 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 2:

By the way, that's become the popular one, hasn't it? That's, like, the one that everybody's doing.

01:27:21 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 5:

You're so nice. Yeah, but it's scary, too. The Roblox thing, bro, like, I see a lot of, like, bad community stuff about it, man. But you got to be careful on that game.

01:27:29 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What do we got to do to, you know, to keep our kids, like, enjoying us? Just take away the electronics.

01:27:36 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 1:

That's it. Electronic free day. So I have a girlfriend who has, she's going into, she was in eighth grade. She's going to ninth grade. And she was talking about, and Wes and I are kind of experiencing this. What?

01:27:48 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 2:

You hang out with girlfriends that are in eighth grade?

01:27:51 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

No, my girlfriend has a daughter who's going into ninth grade. I thought she was in eighth grade, now she's going to ninth grade. I didn't think about that for a second. My brain is not working today.

01:27:58 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

I have, like, a really best friend in high school.

01:28:03 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 1:

No, but we're dealing with this with Samantha right now, too, is vacations. Yeah. Like, especially if it's somewhere, like, we're driving up north or somewhere close. She does not want to go unless a friend comes. Yeah.

01:28:18 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that sucks.

01:28:19 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 1:

Unless a friend comes.

01:28:20 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 2:

I know.

01:28:21 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 1:

Like they have zero. No, you're hanging out with us. Yeah.

01:28:23 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 2:

It's a family time. I remember you brought that up when Wes bought the tickets to, I think it was the Kendra concert, thinking that it would be an experience for him and her. And she's like, bye. She took a friend. Yeah. Yeah. Samantha, what's up?

01:28:34 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. So, Kevin, I'm in the same boat with you. My son does not do anything unless we bribe him with Robux. Literally, if we want him to take a good school picture, I have to bribe him with Robux because I'm like, Donnie, this picture is everything to me. I will give you like $20 worth of robux, and that smile is beautiful.

01:28:55 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

What are we raising, man? I know. It's nuts. And by the way, the other one that's popular, 313 sent this one in, and it says, my little sister is 14 years old, and to get her to hang out with me, I always have to bribe her with Chipotle. Oh, yeah. And it's expensive, they said. More to robux. Yeah. By the way, she's a double chicken girl, I think, with guacamole. Marvin, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:29:21 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo? What up, Kev? What up, Marvin? And Shannon. Hi, good morning. Good to see everybody. Hey, my son is real funny. You know, he'd do the Roblox and stuff, but one day he'd bribe me for a seafood boil. Oh, he got rich taste. Wait, a seafood boil? Who he been hanging on with? Where do you even go for that? Yeah, you know, I go out, hey, witch. See?

01:29:45 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 2:

That new Red Lobster CEO got him at Canaveral. A seafood boil. Do you have to actually do it yourself, or do you got to take him to some restaurant for that?

01:29:53 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. You got to go to, like, one of those places that do them in a bag, bring to you with the Cajun and stuff. Oh, yeah. Oh.

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, go ahead. You're going to ask Kevin something.

01:30:02 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, Kev, I was going to say, my son is 13. He's the same age as your son. They can hook up on, link up on their games and talk because they do the same thing. Okay.

01:30:12 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 1:

Give Lydia his, well, you probably don't know his gamer tag.

01:30:15 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

I know his number.

01:30:16 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, cool. Hold on. I know his phone number. I don't know his link, though. Okay. And then leave it, Marvin. And then the two of you guys get your kids playing together. You guys both go on the Seafoob Royals together.

01:30:28 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, Kev got the money.

01:30:30 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 1:

01:32:48 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. This is the Mojo's Cash for Your Class. I know this is going to go viral, too. and the reason why I know it's going to go viral is, can you imagine what those shopping sprees are going to look like?

01:32:58 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 2:

I love it. I cannot wait.

01:33:00 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 1:

And seeing the kids' reaction to picking clothes. Do you remember when you were a kid? First off, what was the deal with my mom always wanting to put me in corduroys? I was a fat kid in corduroys. Do you know what happened with those? Your thighs was rubbing again. Sparking. They were sparking. There were sparks coming out of my thighs.

01:33:18 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I remember we would make it like a day, and my mom would take my sisters and I to the Birch Run Outlets. Yeah, okay. And that's where we would do our back-to-school shopping and my favorite was the Esprit Outlet. And we would go, it was like the best day to do the back-to-school shopping. But just again, just for qualifying for this contest, even before you win the grand prize, you get $500. That's amazing. Which is going to be so helpful. School supplies are not cheap.

01:33:45 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 1:

It's going a long way. Do you think that we can, I know we're going to do the back-to-school shopping where we're going to take them and get them, you know all the you know it's gonna be like supermarket sweep can can we please go to staples and do the staples thing so i can show you that they have cash registers i don't know that they

01:34:01 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 2:

do anymore i don't believe you why were they selling cash registers call me call me right

01:34:05 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

now and tell me if you if you've ever been to a staples and saw that they have an aisle of cash registers i'm telling you it was a little thief are you talking about like the oversized calculator things with like the roller of paper shannon i'm talking about legit cash registers first off have Have you ever been to the Costco business, Costco, over in Southfield? No. You go into that place, that is a loving place that has, you can set up your whole store if you wanted to. A loving place. I go into that store and it gives me the feels of, oh my God, because I always wanted to have a store. I always wanted to have that and be up there at the counter going, hi, how you doing? How's your day going? I always wanted to work the cash register. I never was the kid that ever got to work the cash register. You could be a Walmart greeter. That's probably what I'll end up doing After this thing's all said and done Can you imagine I think you'll be good at that Me and all the former radio and TV guys in town Me and Huel Perkins Shut up Huel Perkins

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 4:

He loves you. Greetings people.

01:35:01 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 3:

With a black beard.

01:35:02 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello.

01:35:10 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 3:

Are you there? No, I'm not there. Bro, $2,500 shopping spree is insane.

01:35:17 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Plus a $2,500 check. That is a lot. That's a $5,000 price.

01:35:20 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 3:

That'll last you the full year because a lot of these times you go and you shop and then by Christmas, if you're lucky, you still have stuff available. But typically by Christmas, it's all over. You got to go read about stuff.

01:35:32 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 2:

If I got new clothes, like I always had a favorite new thing that I bought. Even if it was 85 degrees on the first day of school, I was wearing that new sweater.

01:35:39 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm wearing that. Hold on. Hold on a second.

01:35:42 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 1:

At Northland.

01:35:42 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm not moving on to second date update until Shanita tells us. Go ahead, Shanita.

01:35:47 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo. I don't know why they're making you look crazy. They totally sold cash registers and staples. I would go in there and play with them, and it was a good time.

01:35:55 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 2:

I feel like my mom hid that from me. so we wouldn't go down that aisle and break something.

01:36:00 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 4:

No, it was an aisle that you didn't go down because you didn't need to. Right. So mom would just keep you in the spiral notebook, Bic pens, you know. What are the pens that are the free-flowing, beautifully written pens? What do you mean? Like these ones. What are these ones right here? This is a pilot pens. Oh, the pilot. The extra fine tip. Look at this pilot pen.

01:36:24 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 3:

The mechanical pistols used to be the Vod.

01:36:26 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I loved those. and then you had to buy the little lead refills. When they start selling the lead on the side, that was a vibe.

01:36:33 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 4:

Alicia, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

01:36:36 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 1:

So I'm not quite an expert, but I would call myself an expert because I love office supply so much that my sorority nickname was Staples. Oh, really? Nerd. Yeah. But they really do have a full aisle of cash registers. It's not necessarily the oversized calculator ones, but it's not the big computer ones either.

01:36:57 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 4:

Ashley, I'm sorry, Alicia, you are the woman of my dreams. I love it. You and I both love the same thing. We'll talk to you later, Staples. Misfit Victor, what's up, Victor? There you go. Hey, good morning, good morning.

01:37:13 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Being a former restaurant worker, twice when our place was broken into, a register was stolen, we had to go to Staples or Office Max or one of these places to get a cash register but mojo do you remember when we went to the costco business center yes we're walking through this gigantic place and everything and i'm like talking to you and everything and i turn around like where the hell are you going i look he's down the aisle looking at cash registers i don't know i love them they're so fun what are you doing he's like oh i've always wanted a cash register i'm like for what what do you what It's so weird.

01:37:53 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 4:

It's so cool. Seriously, it was great. And then we went to go look at goats. Remember that? They had goats. Yeah, goats.

01:38:00 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. 800-pound block of Parmesan cheese. $800 block of Parmesan cheese.

01:38:08 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 4:

And every flavor of Red Bull you've ever wanted in your life, they have it at that one. Yeah. All right, Victor, talk to you. It's so worth it. See you, man. All right, second date update. It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning. All right, why are you not getting a call back after you went out on a date? Justin's getting ghosted and wants to know why. Justin, how did you guys meet? We met through some friends.

01:38:32 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:38:33 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 4:

And what was the date like? What did you guys do?

01:38:37 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 6:

We just, like, went to, like, a bar and had drinks. It was pretty casual.

01:38:41 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 4:

But you thought that things were good enough to at least be able to go on maybe another date or at least talk. What happened? She hasn't talked to you since?

01:38:49 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 6:

yeah i thought the date went all right but yeah no uh hasn't responded to anything like that

out with another girl what you saw wait where on the date i went to the bathroom and when i exited the bathroom i saw you making out with someone else well you got some explaining to do

01:40:18 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 4:

you don't remember that i i i didn't know you saw that i did in my entire life

01:40:25 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 2:

Who is the girl? Justin, explain this. What's the story? Did she see something wrong?

01:40:32 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 4:

I mean, well, listen, I was a little drunk, you know. It didn't mean anything. I don't know. Like, nothing really happened, you know.

01:40:44 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 6:

Nothing really happened except you made out with somebody.

01:40:48 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 4:

People kiss, okay? Come on.

01:40:52 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

So wait, so stop for one second, because this to me just is too much that you didn't even reveal to us that this happened. So you guys go out, you leave to go where, Tammy?

01:41:05 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

I went to the bathroom.

01:41:06 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 2:

So you go to the bathroom, and then you come out, and you see the guy that you're on a date with kissing another girl. When you say kissing, making out, is it just he gave her a kiss?

01:41:17 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. Making out.

01:41:19 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 2:

Like?

01:41:20 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 5:

Full on.

01:41:22 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 2:

Is it somebody that you knew, Justin?

01:41:26 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 4:

No, it was just, you know, I was just hanging at the bar, and, you know, I was waiting for someone to approach me, and, you know, I was a little drunk. People kiss, man. I don't see what the big deal is.

01:41:38 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 5:

You're such a player. Do you hear how he's talking?

01:41:41 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Did you say something to him, or did you kind of just ignore it and then you never hit him back?

01:41:47 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 5:

I was honestly in such a state of shock that I just kind of waited back by the bathroom for them to finish. And then I, like, paid for my drink and then was like, got to go. I didn't bring it up.

01:42:02 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

You know what? This is obviously a no-go for a second date, but has any other listeners ever experienced something like this? Have you ever experienced on a first date where you saw the guy that you're on a date with or the girl that you're on a date with, maybe not so much kissing or making out with somebody, but did you ever see them hitting on somebody or flirting with another person? I would think that that could be something that might be somewhat common where people do that.

01:42:28 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 6:

So I actually have a friend who was on the receiving end of this where she was out with, actually she was at Market, the very famous market in Birmingham, hanging out with some friends. And she was, like I said, with girlfriends. And there was a guy who she could tell was on a date at the bar. The date goes to the bathroom, and the guy gets up and comes over to her and asks her if she wants to hang out later. And she was like, uh, it looks to me like you're on a date with somebody.

01:42:56 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 2:

No. Steve, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey.

01:43:00 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey. I just want to, I don't know if you guys heard him, but he literally said, I didn't know you saw that.

01:43:07 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, right off the bat. I mean, he admitted it right away.

01:43:10 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 4:

come on listen listen when you're on a date things can happen okay i i didn't know okay we're at the bar we're chilling you know things happen you have to go with the phone she just fell in when the margaritas hit the margaritas hit

01:43:30 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 2:

uh by the way by the way the mutual friend that introduced you to each other tammy did you tell them what happened like did you explain to them that this is what what he did on the date oh yeah absolutely absolutely i told her because i because that's the thing like i that's why you don't want to set your friends up with other people because you worry that you could lose a friend that way that's pretty funny oh my god um she was fully on my side she felt bad did she see that justin was that kind of a guy that he would do something like that

01:44:04 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 5:

no she didn't that's why she was shocked too just like i was yeah um all right well

01:44:12 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 2:

seems more obvious than uh than we need to get more involved in so second date update here on

01:44:18 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

the mojo in the morning show this is the home of the dirty on the 30 throwback throwdown second date update and war of the roses this is mojo in the morning all right we're going to give you

01:44:28 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 2:

01:44:49 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 6:

Next week. Next week. Yeah, seven days.

01:44:51 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 2:

So, your chance to win right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. By the way, I had no clue of this. And Lydia was telling me that next... Next week on the show, and I'm going to tease this along with our back-to-school cash-for-your-class that we're doing with Moran Automotive. Did you know that Tate McRae's got another show? And those tickets aren't sold out yet, but they're getting sold out. We're giving away tickets to that. That show's in October. She was just here this weekend. I didn't realize that she was coming back so fast.

01:45:20 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 3:

I didn't either. And she's going to Grand Rapids as well.

01:45:22 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 2:

And she's going to be in Grand Rapids, which is awesome. So we're giving away tickets to those shows. And then who are we giving away tickets to? What other big sold-out show were we giving away tickets to?

01:45:33 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 1:

Sold-out Matt Reif at Little Caesars.

01:45:35 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. He's back. Matt Reif.

01:45:36 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

You've been crying for him in here. We were just talking about him in the chat.

01:45:39 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, he's in, but he kind of went a little, he's got some good viral stuff that has been popping up on my. He sells out like crazy. So your chance to win tickets to both of those and Lil Wayne will have even more of those. You got to listen to Mojo in the Morning for those. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30 right now. What's going on, Shannon?

01:46:01 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Check it out if you haven't seen it yet. Post Malone starring in the new campaign ad for Kim Kardashian's Skims, the brand's latest man collection. The campaign features Post Malone in camo print boxer briefs, hoodies, joggers, T-shirts. He's doing all sorts of things in the photos like driving a tractor, riding a horse, doing a little fishing.

01:46:23 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 2:

He's like Yellowstone Cowboy.

01:46:24 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 3:

It's actually great. At first, when I heard that he was going to be like the new face of this campaign, I'm like, really? Post-blow? But it works. It works because it's all like country and camo themed. But the new collection set to drop tomorrow. It is expected to sell out quickly. If you want to buy anything for your man, everybody's kind of anticipating this one.

01:46:45 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 2:

So who are other celebrities that have done Skims campaigns? Has she had a bunch of them? Sabrina Carpenter.

01:46:50 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 1:

Lana Del Rey did one.

01:46:53 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 2:

She had a partnership with the NBA, so it was a lot of NBA athletes that were. I'm telling you, I'm wearing my skims tomorrow. Get you some Post Malone joints. Get myself like some.

01:47:02 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 3:

No camo, bro. I can't see them in these ones. Why not?

01:47:05 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea's a big camo person. Chelsea loves camo. I don't know if she loves me in camo. Only one way to find out. I think she likes to know exactly where I am at all times. She doesn't want me blending into anything.

01:47:16 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 3:

Actress Aubrey Plaza on Amy Poehler's Good Hang podcast, opening up in detail for the very first time publicly about losing her husband, Jeff Beina. The indie filmmaker, remember, died by suicide earlier this year. He was just 47 years old.

01:47:28 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 1:

I'm here and I'm functioning and I feel really grateful to be moving through the world. I think like I'm okay, but you know, it's like a daily struggle.

01:47:44 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 3:

She actually compared her grief to a show or excuse me, a movie on Apple TV. If you haven't seen it yet, The Gorge.

01:47:53 - 01:47:54 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:47:54 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 1:

At all times, there's like a giant ocean of just awfulness that's like right there and I can like see it. And like sometimes I just want to like dive into it and just like be in it. And then sometimes I just like look at it. And then sometimes I'm like, I just try to get away from it. But it's always there.

01:48:12 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

I don't know who she was. I had to Google her for a second, but yeah.

01:48:15 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 3:

You know her from a lot of things, but probably White Lotus. You know her from White Lotus. White Lotus. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, White Lotus.

01:48:20 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you guys that I want to talk about something really quickly? It's so random. Go ahead. I just want to talk about this because when I say this, I want to talk about it at a time that I'm hoping my wife's not listening.

01:48:31 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:48:32 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 2:

I have been obsessed with the hunting wives.

01:48:35 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Here he goes. He has been texting us about the hunting wives. I heard it is raunchy. Have you finished it?

01:48:41 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

No. Is it raunchy? First off, I tried to watch it with Chelsea, and Chelsea was not into it. She was just not. It was too much for her. It was, like, too much, too fast. It just felt too much. So I have to find – I feel like when I'm watching The Hunting Wives, I'm watching Pornhub. Like, I feel like I have to run into other rooms because – but it is – have you – has any of our listeners watched this show yet? The Hunting Wives – does this happen in, like, real life? Does this happen? Like, if it does, I'm moving to Texas. It gets down in Texas. I'm going to say, Chelsea, I just took a job in Dallas at Kiss. It's only seven episodes. Shannon, let me describe the first episode. I think you would. So the guy moves.

01:49:24 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 3:

With or without Wes?

01:49:25 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Watch it with Wes, and you guys then have fun with each other afterwards. That's what I was hoping for with this, with Chelsea. So the guy moves his family to a new job, and the job's boss is this guy, Dylan Milrooney, mill rooney or whatever his name is or dylan mcdermott one of those dillans and the guy's wife is like uh uh you know kind of a a little sex uh fiend she's kind of got this like i want to have sex you know with anybody uh but it's on the loto it's low keto it's low because they're prominent figures so it's like undercover so they kind of like all the women seem like they're all

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 5:

each other and stuff. It's kind of like your friends.

01:50:02 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 1:

No, that doesn't happen. I'm just seeing a group of girls.

01:50:05 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 5:

It kind of does. It kind of like when I'm seeing the women together and then I see them hanging, I see pictures of Shannon with all these ladies that you hang out with, the moms that you hang out with. Beautiful group of girls. Could you see them being hunting wives? I said, with a little wine, you never know. I'm into hunting wives. We've got to have a... Can we have Zach watch hunting wives and then do a hunting wives

01:50:29 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 1:

updates oh my god yeah yeah you have homework want to take care of this for us we'll get it for you it's on netflix real quick if you are headed to planet fitness today or any other gym but it should be planet fitness make sure you're listening to this gen z is schooling the rest of us on our gym attire guys they say leggings are absolutely 100 out actually i'm wearing leggings and gym goers instead should be moving towards wearing baggy sweatpants paired with tighter tops or oversized t-shirts a look that has been popularized by a lot of celebrities billy eilish i feel like started this but um sales of leggings have actually dropped 47 percent from 2022 to now even lululemon's growth has slowed a little bit and i guess searches for baggy gym outfits are up 400 and brands like nike and adidas are embracing that trend nothing but grayson at the gym you

01:51:27 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 5:

wear grayson i got great yeah they make uh they make joggers and stuff really that's what you are i'm not really at the gym that much i was gonna say brian reef gives me crap all the time i'm like i'm like a twice or three times a month guy so just know if you're at the gym and you're wearing leggings you that they are out of style oh that's crazy i'm gonna continue my amazon

01:51:46 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 1:

leggings that i love or is it like another reason well actually experts say that if you work out in baggy pants it's actually not practical like you should wear leggings especially for activities like yoga or running or strength training, but whatever. Okay, for everything you missed today, check out the podcast search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

Sabrina, what's up, Sabrina?

01:52:16 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:52:17 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 5:

Are you, are you a, Sabrina, are you a Hunting Wives fan?

01:52:21 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I am. My husband and I watched it. We are obsessed.

01:52:24 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 5:

Question, after you guys watch an episode, How quick are you guys to start fooling around with each other?

01:52:31 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 4:

Pretty fast. It's a good one.

01:52:33 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy, isn't it? It really is like watching porn together. It's kind of wild.

01:52:40 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 4:

It's wild. But the story is really good, too. Like, really, the plot is amazing. And it ends on a cliffhanger. So hopefully we'll get into season two.

01:52:47 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, don't tell me. I want to hang out with that.

01:52:50 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 4:

I like that. I like your style.

01:52:53 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 5:

Jodi, what's up, Jodi?

01:52:55 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. good morning what's happening i just finished that i can't wait for the next series but it is

01:53:00 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 5:

definitely a lot of popcorn in there yeah it's great wait are you on i agree are you on a line right now i am do you talk about it with your co-workers you guys have conversations about shows you watch um about what about you talk to them about your shows you watch like we

01:53:19 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 4:

in our office oh i watch it here as i work oh you're watching it on the line what do you do And then, I mean, when the little soft porn issues come up, I do kind of put my phone down so the people, the guy across from me can't be like, what the hell is he watching?

01:53:36 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 5:

See, I can't do that. I have to be really careful, like, on airplanes. That's a show I would never watch on an airplane. I don't know. You sit next to a kid.

01:53:46 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 4:

The only thing I found disturbing about it is I think they could have went a little older instead of, like, a grown woman kind of having an affair with a kid.

01:53:54 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 5:

It's something for everybody in there now. Samantha, you're going to see Benson Boone. We're going to give you something.

01:57:10 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 5:

What was that? Hold on a second. Who is this? What was that song? What was it called? It was Gold? Was it Gold? No. What was that? 24-karat golden. What was it again? 24-karat golden. 24-karat golden. With Justin Bieber. Go ahead, go ahead. Keep going. Are you ticking? Huh? I'm dancing. I thought you was ticking. We're listening to music. Andy, hey. This is why we don't play music on our show, because we listen to other shows play the music. I remember when we used to, when this show used to play music, this is no joke, when this show used to play music, my bladder was so much better. Then when we got rid of the music, all of a sudden I got a bladder infection.

01:57:58 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 2:

More on the eggs being thrown on Bayshore Boulevard. Also, Florida named the second most fun state. I'll tell you why.

01:59:06 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what happened?

01:59:06 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 5:

Was today a bad show? What's going on?

01:59:08 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 6:

No, I want to be a negotiator. Why? That's what I want.

01:59:11 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 5:

Why?

01:59:12 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 6:

I got into the wrong profession because yesterday's events were the most incredible events of my entire life. I have a new appreciation for what our police officers do and a new appreciation for Jed and his talents.

01:59:24 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait. So we talked about this on our show. For those that missed it, go back and listen. Or Joe and Ashley, have you guys been talking about it on your show, about what Jed did yesterday?

01:59:34 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 6:

We have. Not only did we talk about it, but the negotiation team, they've been listening, and they called in, and we got to talk to them. And Jed is scary how good he is at being, like, a building terrorist. Mojo, you have to do this with, like, Washtenaw County Sheriff or Wayne County.

01:59:53 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 5:

No, no, Wayne County. Yeah, because we're downtown. Yeah, do it with Wayne County Sheriff and do it and then pick the craziest person on your team.

02:00:00 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 4:

show, probably Zach, and have them be the person holding people high. Get into this mindset like you're John McLean and you're trying to get, my wife is being dogged by this guy.

02:00:12 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 2:

He's got the tone.

02:00:14 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, I don't want to go to prison. They're going to do naughty stuff to me. I got to censor summarize. He kept calling

02:00:19 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 3:

our co-worker a dirty skank.

02:00:25 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, got into character. So for those who didn't hear this.

02:00:29 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 4:

But you've got to get into it, because these police officers are trying to train for an actual situation, and you've got to make it seem like you're an actual crazy person who's going through one of those episodes. You've got to jump right in.

02:00:41 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 5:

They had Jed be the actor shooter, and then they had, who was it, somebody from, Kim from Sales, right?

02:00:47 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Kim from Sales, and then Flip from our Spanish station, and then they were, they didn't even know what to do with themselves. They were, like, sitting on their hands. This guy's been going to the hotel down the street and dogging my wife. Stop it right now. That was insane. And I'm like, my kids think I'm a failure. They come home from school, and I'm doing laundry and cooking meals.

02:01:08 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 1:

Did they give you this situation? Dad, did they give you this scenario, or did you come up with this yourself?

02:01:14 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 4:

So I'll spell out the scenario for you. I was a disgruntled employee who had been laid off months prior. And then I found out that my wife, who also works at the radio station, is having an affair with her co-host. So that's the whole reason why I decided to go in with a 9mm and a tactical knife.

02:01:32 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Tactical knife? Oh, my God.

02:01:36 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 4:

It was one of the best things ever. I wish we audio recorded it. We'd be using drops forever. Is there any video? No.

02:01:48 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 3:

They let me sit in the negotiation room, but I felt uncomfortable filming it Because I didn't know if it was, like, their trade secrets or anything like that. But it was a full-on test for them. But the woman who we talked to on the air, she said that in her whole entire career, she's never heard anyone do that during a training.

02:02:09 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 5:

So did she say that it was the most active shooter ever? Like, so Jed would be, is Jed just a good actor? Or what is it, Ashley?

02:02:19 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 2:

Or are we working with the shooter? I don't know.

02:02:21 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 4:

They gave me their playbook, so I know everything to do and not to do.

02:02:27 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 5:

It's amazing. I'm so proud of Jetty. He finally found his calling. This is, like, amazing. Hold on. Hold on. Spencer, what's up, Spencer? You're on with Mojo in the Morning and the Joe Show.

02:02:40 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I just want to know how we stepped over the Joe Show giving away a cruise. I love you guys and all, but I might have to trace it.

02:02:48 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 5:

Bro, I'm witsy. How do listeners win a cruise, Joe? How do they do that?

02:02:53 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 3:

We play a sound effect on the 40s, so 647, 48, 49, 40, and you call in, and if you guess the sound correctly, you win a cabin on our cruise because we're cruising into November. I'm on you. November 14th through the 18th.

02:03:08 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 5:

Cozumel, here we come. Is the show – wait. Does the show get to go on the cruise with the listeners?

02:03:14 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

It's our cruise. It's our cruise. Yeah, they get to go with the listeners.

02:03:17 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 1:

I'll be careful. Well, the last time I did that, the day I got home, we got fired.

02:03:21 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 5:

Wait, well, where did that go? That took a left turn. No. I was going to do a hostage. That happened.

02:03:29 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 1:

What happened? They sent us on a cruise with listeners, and the night we got home, the whole show got fired. Oh, my God.

02:03:34 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 5:

Somebody text someone. No way.

02:03:36 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 1:

That is not true.

02:03:37 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 2:

It's not cruising in November. Yikes.

02:03:41 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. By the way, the thing that I find so interesting is that I want to see Ashley Nix on a cruise because I know Ashley's going to be in her cabin the entire time. You're not going to be out of that cabin, are you?

02:03:54 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to hang out with this a little bit, but I'm having an LGBTQ party because I heard there's a lot of lesbians and gay guys coming, so I'm excited. Okay.

02:04:01 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 4:

I want to put you on the pool.

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

What's wrong with the pool?

02:04:07 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 4:

Ashley's allergic to water.

02:04:08 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't do the water. I don't do the water.

02:04:10 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Ashley is so funny. When you guys go to Disney and I see Ashley having fun at Disney, I'm like, this does not seem like the Ashley Knicks that I know. She's come out of her shell.

02:04:20 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Ashley has fun. I get there and Joe injects me with, like, I don't know, this Disney juice.

02:04:25 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 5:

Ashley is more about, like, hanging in the clubs and having, you know, having a little cocktails.

02:04:31 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm loving it.

02:04:32 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, the cruise ship, on the cruise ship, I'm not messing around. There's a seven-story club. No way. And we're hosting every night. What a great thing. Yeah. That's so cool. All right.

02:04:41 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 5:

We'll let you guys get back to your show, and we love you guys. Wait, I'm sorry.

02:04:46 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 3:

Why did you call us?

02:04:47 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 5:

We called because I told the story about you calling me yesterday about Jed's active shooter thing. I told the whole story on the air, and the listeners were – Don't joke it down. Jed, let me hear you do the dirty skank line.

02:04:58 - 02:04:59 | Unknown:

Kevin, I'm done.

02:05:00 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to do it.

02:05:01 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, I'm going to do it. You quit dogging my wife, you son of a bitch. Wait, wait, say the line you said. I don't want to go to prison. I don't want to get raped by men. No, say the one, say the one. So they found out that he had two kids. He found out they had two kids and that he was a baseball coach. So the woman said, hey, I know you have a game this weekend for your son, Mike and Mila. You need to be there.

02:05:30 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 3:

I know, I know, but my kid, he's good at baseball, but I can't stand my daughter. She just plays in the dirt and just makes a freaking mess at home. I hate my wife.

02:05:42 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 4:

This guy, by the way, were you in the drama club in Notre Dame Prep?

02:05:47 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

He had to be.

02:05:48 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 4:

No, they wouldn't let me.

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 2:

He's too dramatic. They're like, yeah, no.

02:05:51 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Take it, my wife. All right, we'll talk to you guys later. Love you guys.

02:05:56 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 6:

Bye, guys. Bye, guys. Bye. PQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

02:06:13 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 4:

All right, five lies to tell your mom. We're going to do that right now. If you would like to be on Five Lies, text mom to 95500, and we will get you on the show. We got to get a good actor like Jed. You're going to be able to act and get your mom on there. He just earned more job security. There's no way I'm firing Jed after that. Right after Five Lies, we're giving you the word to text in to win a trip to Vegas, courtesy of Zot Ford and Deals in the D, your chance to win. Coming up.

02:06:45 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:48 - 02:06:48 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:06:49 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 4:

Five lies to tell your mom. Emily.

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

02:06:54 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 4:

02:06:57 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing good. How are you? We're great. I'm so ready.

02:07:00 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 4:

All right. Is mom fun?

02:07:02 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 1:

Mom is so fun. She's going to freak out.

02:07:05 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So what are we doing here, Bianca?

02:07:07 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 1:

So Emily's moving back to college tomorrow, and we're going to pretend that the university messed up a little bit and now has some extra roommates that are guys. Oh, no.

02:07:16 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 4:

02:07:27 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 5:

02:07:30 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Lie number three. Two guys are living in my dorm until they have a place to stay. Lie number four.

02:07:40 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 5:

02:07:43 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 4:

02:11:15 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Emily. Oh, I'm glad I didn't drop a bunch of bad words.

02:11:19 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 2:

She's, by the way, got two new guy roommates. One is Mojo. the other one's kevin and uh well at least they're cool guys most of the time by the way i don't think you have to worry about them setting them up with like these guy roommates you got to worry

02:13:24 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Bianca, who is our director of social impact on the show. Kazi. She was done dirty by her ex, and we want to find him. And as her older brother, Kevin, you and I are going to beat the crap out of this. What happened?

02:13:46 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 1:

So the other day, I actually, I saw him out and we started talking and catching up. And honestly, I feel like everything's good. I feel like we're on good terms. Everything's chill now. So as we were talking, he was like, I want to introduce you to my friends. So I'm like, okay, let's go. So I walk up to him and his friends. And then he's like, yeah, he, him and I were like kind of next to each other. And then he was like, oh, hell no. and pushed me away and then starts talking to another group of girls that were right next to him. So, yeah, little, I don't know why he did that. I think he was honestly setting me up or trying to act cool in front of his friends. I think that's what he was doing. How old are we? No, I'm saying that like as a rhetorical question. Yeah. So I don't know why he did that, but it was really embarrassing. So his friends are like looking at me like what's going on here. And I was like, honestly, I don't know why he just did that. Cause he told me to come up and talk to you guys and his friends are like yeah that's honestly a little weird because we broke up like four years ago so i don't know why he's still acting like this did they the did the friends

02:14:50 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 2:

like apologize for him because he's kind of a douche for doing that or they just said no that's

02:14:55 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

a little weird they're like yeah that's a little weird it was weird that is by the way such a guy

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

thing.

02:15:00 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 4:

like a 22-year-old guy thing.

02:15:02 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 2:

That's lame.

02:15:03 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 3:

That's like a 13-year-old guy.

02:15:06 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 2:

He asks me, let's go up and talk to him and then pushes me away the second I get out there.

02:15:11 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 1:

It was premeditated.

02:15:13 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 2:

He knew. He was setting me up.

02:15:14 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 1:

He thought he was going to look cool and run it down, but he looked stupid.

02:15:17 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 2:

And then he went to go talk to a group of girls after. And I'm like, okay. Like, do what you got to do. I don't care that he's talking to other girls, but like, that's just so extra. You didn't have to do that.

02:15:25 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 4:

How long did you guys date?

02:15:27 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 2:

Like two years. Really? Back in like 2020. It was like 2020 to 2022 or whatever.

02:15:31 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 4:

Which you were what at that time? Teenage high school.

02:15:34 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 2:

I was like, this is so old news.

02:15:36 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 4:

Man.

02:15:37 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 2:

It's not necessary.

02:15:38 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, if he's listening out there, we're going to kick your ass, you son of a bitch. We're going to come after you. Is he in the area here? Is he a listener?

02:15:53 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if he's a listener, but he's in the area. He definitely listens beyond good. He still loves you.

02:15:57 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Do you know him, Lydia?

02:15:59 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

I know of him, yeah. He goes to our church.

02:16:02 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 3:

Did you say he still loves her? Yeah, he does, for sure. But this is like the, you know, boys are mean to you if they like you, which I've never agreed with that.

02:16:13 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the thing. Every time we talk, he's like, oh, my God, it's so awkward. I can't believe I'm talking to you. So either one, you hate me, two, you're still in love with me, or two, you're embarrassed to see me.

02:16:23 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Is this guy Chaldean?

02:16:25 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes, of course. That's all she dates, Chaldean.

02:16:27 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 4:

You give me his last name, and I'll call his dad. I'm always blown away by that. You know, it's funny is when I hear stories like that, and I hear, like, some of the stories of these guys that you guys have dated, I sit there, and I wonder if my sons are also the douchebag stuff like that.

02:16:46 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 2:

I can see Luke doing it.

02:16:47 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 4:

Come on. Luke is not that. Luke is more. I'm just kidding. Somebody said that Luke reminds them of Matthew McConaughey, which I thought was a great compliment.

02:16:54 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, Luke's like basic frat boys. So all the frat boys act like that.

02:16:57 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:16:58 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 2:

He talks like a frat boy, too. Does he really? How do frat boys talk?

02:17:01 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 4:

He doesn't do that. Well, he's like, uh, like that.

02:17:04 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? Yeah. No.

02:17:07 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 1:

That's exactly how he talks.

02:17:09 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 4:

You should see him when he's not in his frat boy mode. Like, he becomes very business-like, where he's, like, talking about his, you know, his work and stuff. Like, he interned this summer for Ryan Lash and was doing medical stuff, selling medical supplies. And he loved it. He would be like, Dad, do you know how much money that –

02:17:31 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 3:

I love your impression of him.

02:17:32 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 4:

He's like, Dad, do you know how much money that we could save a doctor's office by having them let us do their testing for them? And he would, like, sit there and do that stuff. And I would be like, man, this is unbelievable. Like, this is my kid. I can't believe that.

02:17:46 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 2:

The way I hear him, he's like, yeah, I'm going to drink it with the boys next week. What, Bianca? You've got the Borgs. The Borgs. Really? That's the only way I've ever heard him. Yeah, I'm hitting a power purse next weekend. Talk to him now. He's coming to his own. Every sentence is in like that. Yeah, honestly, I'm just like tired of mathing. I'm about to go back home and just go to sleep. That's the only way I've ever heard it. Hold on.

02:18:16 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Let me see if he's awake this early in the morning.

02:18:19 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 2:

At least my ex-boyfriend didn't talk like that.

02:18:22 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 4:

Is he still sleeping? No, I think he's got me on Do Not Disturb or something. when it goes that fast I think it's do not disturb

02:18:28 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 3:

so you're going to disturb him class hasn't started yet

02:18:33 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 4:

hey what's up Luke what's up Mojo hey who's that

02:18:40 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 1:

that's ass juice

02:18:42 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 4:

ass juice hey real quick I want to call you on our phone line here is that okay can I call you on the phone line on the air and we want to talk to you guys alright we're calling you right back

02:18:54 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 2:

I think my impression was spot on.

02:18:55 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. No, we're calling him right back. Hold on a second.

02:18:58 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 3:

Did we figure out Ash Deuce's real name?

02:19:01 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 4:

Henry.

02:19:01 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to know it. I would never call him Henry before.

02:19:03 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 4:

Henry.

02:19:04 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 1:

You can't have a real name when your nickname is Ash Deuce.

02:19:07 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 4:

That's Dix. Wait, you don't think that...

02:19:10 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 1:

And it also could be a good Borg name. Ooh.

02:19:12 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hold on.

02:19:14 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 1:

Booty Juice.

02:19:15 - 02:19:16 | Speaker 4:

What did I just do? Hold on.

02:19:17 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 2:

Luke's on line eight.

02:19:19 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 4:

You have Luke on line eight? How do you... She's such a good producer. She's the best, bro. She's so good. But I was trying to dial him up. Lucas and Ass Juice. Good morning.

02:19:27 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:19:29 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 4:

How you doing? Good morning. Hey, Shannon was asking Ass Juice what your real name was. And I said, I don't know. I think it's legally Ass Juice. He changed it. Yeah, but we see Henry. Actually, Henry. So, Luke, we're talking to Bianca here. And she says that every time she talks to you that you sound like a frat guy. and I'm trying to prove that you're not a frat guy.

02:19:55 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not. Yeah. Yeah. My thing is fine. My impression is spot on. No, come on. Talk to Luke like Luke. When I'm drunk, it's worse. I'm a little drunk right now, to be honest.

02:20:08 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. You guys moved up there so early. Ask Juice, why are you guys there so early? School doesn't start until next week, right?

02:20:17 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're just here early so we can just drink for two weeks.

02:20:21 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 2:

I love the honesty. Ask Juice, definitely. How's the new house, by the way, guys? How are we liking this house that you're in?

02:20:27 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awesome It's like too big though It's like stressful, it's like a maze

02:20:34 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is like a maze It's like a study room

02:20:37 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second, what do you guys do in the study room?

02:20:41 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 3:

We haven't, I don't think I don't think since moving Any of us have been down there We didn't talk about that Shurning into a party room, there's like a bar

02:20:50 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 2:

Really? Making a bar? Make the study room a bar

02:20:54 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we don't study

02:20:56 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 2:

what are you guys doing up so early are you preparing for the fact that your mom is coming up there today to bring the remaining stuff that you have yeah no i've been up for a little bit

02:21:09 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 3:

yeah i did forget uh does he uh no we're just out just up just hanging out

02:21:19 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 2:

Ass Juice reached out to me, and he wants to do a podcast. What do you guys think about this podcast with Ass Juice on there where people can become guests and stuff? I think it actually would do well. What do you think? Do you guys see me? No, I'm asking Ass Juice. Ass Juice, do you like this idea?

02:21:41 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 4:

No, it would be a good podcast. I feel like we all have to be honest. We have good stories. Like, every night we just go out.

02:21:52 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way. We should put a camera on.

02:21:55 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you got to get the glasses.

02:21:58 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, to get the meta glasses for him.

02:22:00 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, have him just go out. By the way, I was trying to prove to Bianca that Luke has moved out of these fraternity phrase or stage. He is not.

02:22:10 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 3:

This is what you sound like every single time I've talked to you. What up, Bianca? Yeah. I'm hanging out at Beta Kai tomorrow. We're going to Harper's, too. We're hitting it up. You're going to come to the Darty? That is the only way you sound like. I'm just bad. I'm just bad. I used to be a good kid. I don't know what happened. I swear.

02:22:34 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

Beta Kai happened. Beta Kai? Wait, hold on a second. Hey, Ask Juice. This was Luke once on our show.

02:22:41 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 1:

Mom.

02:22:42 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 2:

I know. And now. God. Borgs That's what it's starting to do Borgs Exactly Oh my god Hold on a second Holly We're talking to My son Luke And his Roommate Ass Juice What's up?

02:23:00 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 1:

Good morning I think They sound like Crush from Finding Nemo

02:23:04 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah brah

02:23:09 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 1:

That's so good

02:23:13 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys talk to your professors at Michigan State like this, or are you guys usually more, you know, solid?

02:23:22 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know. I haven't really seen a professor in the class.

02:23:27 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Courtney, what's up, Courtney? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:23:31 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Good morning to Luke and Ass Juice. I think we need to have a weekly college update on Luke every single week So we can get an update on what's going on at Theta Chi, what's the college drama, and we can hear about all this crap voice stuff. I love this idea.

02:23:51 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 2:

Maybe Luke and Astuce need to do a podcast together, too. What do you guys think about that? Let's do it.

02:23:58 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

We got to do it later, though. What do you mean? 9.30. I don't know. 9.30 is devious. Maybe if you call me at 5 p.m. and just record it.

02:24:08 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 2:

Luke, what time are your classes this year? Do you have any morning classes? No, I have a 10 a.m. on Tuesday. What about you, Ashtoos? Will you be alive at that early hour? Probably not. I don't even know what my classes are.

02:24:27 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 4:

Last semester I've been only one for like... I only went to like a total of like seven classes last semester.

02:24:35 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

Confirm that.

02:24:36 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how did you pass? Were you able to pass?

02:24:40 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 3:

We have this little cheat, but we can't give it out. We can't give it out. Oh, my God.

02:24:46 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't want MSU to find out.

02:24:48 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 1:

He's probably not even enrolled in school. He's just living in that house.

02:24:50 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

This, by the way, might be my proudest dad moment. Trent, what's up, Trent? You're on the air right now with my son, Lucas.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 3:

as his mother would say, Lucas, and ass juice. What's up?

02:25:06 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so it's going to the metaglasses idea. You can't do that because if there's anyone there who's underage at a college party or at the bars, that's all incriminating evidence. Then you're an accessory.

02:25:17 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

02:25:18 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 9:

Fake IDs are a thing, so they're all legally 21 according to the ID.

02:25:21 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but the metaglasses will give out the...

02:25:24 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 9:

They won't know if the ID's fake.

02:25:25 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Trent, you must have been a Michigan student, not a Michigan State student. Hold on. Melissa, what's up, Melissa? Hi.

02:25:35 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 10:

Hey, so I actually have two comments. One, I think the boys should definitely do a college podcast.

02:25:40 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 11:

Okay.

02:25:41 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 10:

Giving all the intel of it. And then two, this is a little off the wall. I saw that there was a job posting for Channel 955 Mojo on Air Talent. I applied two months ago. Yeah. I haven't heard anything back. I didn't know a good way to contact you guys besides this.

02:25:56 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 3:

Very soon to announce a new member of the show. So there'll be somebody new coming to the show very soon.

02:26:04 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 11:

Well, that's exciting to hear.

02:26:05 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 3:

It's ass juice. It's ass juice.

02:26:08 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 11:

I approve of that. If it's not me, I approve of ass juice.

02:26:13 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Ass juice, can you wake up this early in the morning to show up to work, or will you just stay up all night?

02:26:18 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, I'll just stay up all night.

02:26:22 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I'm so sad that Bianca was right. I was so sad. I thought that was her talk. Marcus, what's up, Marcus? Hi.

02:26:31 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I just wanted to tell Lucas and Asdrews I'm proud of them for at least knowing they have classes because I'm not too sure about mine at the moment.

02:26:42 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 3:

Where do you go to school, Marcus? I go to Michigan right now. Oh, go blue. Right, guys? Go blue.

02:26:49 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, go home, baby.

02:26:54 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Luke, I don't think, gets into the whole Michigan-Michigan State rivalry because you party with just as many Michigan people as you do Michigan State, right, Luke?

02:27:04 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 7:

I feel like I like good games. I care who we are, so.

02:27:08 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right, so listen, we're going to let you guys go. Luke, you better clean up that place right now because your mom is on her way up there. Yeah, I see. Yeah, she is. She's on her way up. You knew that. That was happening today.

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 7:

No, no, it's up. Yeah, she is on the way up. All right. You beat.

02:27:26 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 3:

All right. I gotta clean up. All right. Ass Juice, love you, buddy. Love you, man. Love you, Luke. I love you more. Bye-bye. All right, take care. That's unbelievable.

02:27:38 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 2:

What did he call you?

02:27:40 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 3:

He said love you more. He said dad. He loved you more.

02:27:42 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 2:

I thought he said juice. Oh, I thought he said poop.

02:27:44 - 02:27:45 | Unknown:

Poop.

02:27:45 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:27:45 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 9:

Someone told me one time that sending your kids to college is like sending them to Vegas. They go have fun for four years and they come back with nothing. So true.

02:27:55 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 5:

Tap that app. Mojo in the morning on the iHeartRadio app. Tap that app.

02:28:00 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:28:03 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

02:28:05 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 2:

From Michigan State to the University of Michigan, where apparently there is a peeping Tom on campus at the moment.

02:28:16 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 3:

That, by the way, is a crazy story, isn't it? This guy, I guess, has been already peeping into windows of college co-eds and they haven't even started school. Yes.

02:28:25 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 5:

St. Ann Arbor police are looking for a peeping Tom, a man accused of looking for college-age women and trying to peer into their bedrooms.

02:28:31 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, now they're putting out the warning, hoping to catch him before he strikes again. And Fox News, Dave Spencer is live in Ann Arbor with more on what we know about this guy, Dave.

02:28:41 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what we know is that he's been doing this a lot, six to eight times according to police all within the past 10 days and here's his mo he's looking to walk up around sides of houses or backyards looking for either a bucket to stand on or maybe a trash can then he moves closer to a window and then he peers in that window as victims typically according to police are college-aged women blinds are curtains use them if you don't have some

02:29:09 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 8:

installed look at lighting in your backyard or on a side approach to a house if you're renting talk to your landlord and and make sure they'll install or that they have proper lighting nowadays you can get surveillance cameras fairly cheap and if you feel like you need to install one of those and then also just making sure there's not things in your backyard that someone can move over to a window and stand on isn't that crazy though that uh that this guy's it sounds

02:29:38 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 3:

like he has no involvement with the university but is targeting all these girls it's really scary

02:29:43 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

and i mean the last time that somebody saw him was monday at one in the morning so this is a

02:29:48 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

very recent story wow speaking of uh that was a report from fox 2 did you guys watch the jessica Dupnack. Yes. This thing was crazy. So Jessica Dupnack, who is

02:30:00 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 4:

Somebody that we have had numerous times on our show. We're huge fans of Jessica. Jessica was doing a report about the shooting that took place in Detroit just the other day. And there was a shooting that she was reporting on when a shooting started while she was talking about the shooting.

02:30:20 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 3:

Short recap. Three people shot here on Detroit's east side. One male is dead and two females in temporary serious condition. Police are actively looking for those suspects. Remember, it is a Chrysler, a Burgundy Chrysler 200 or 300 that they're looking for. So for now, reporting live on Detroit's east side, Jessica Dupnack, Fox 2 News. Jess, we just had the chief in here.

02:30:45 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I'm going to stop this for a second. Listen, Amy Lang starts talking to her about what's going on. And you start hearing gunfire going on in the background. And Jessica is like...

02:30:53 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 1:

She's looking around. You can tell she's scared.

02:30:56 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 2:

Speaking with Rup earlier this evening, and one of the things they talked about was this gun violence and stiffer penalties for this. Jess, you hear 100 shots possibly fired, and it's incredible to think that only three people were hit.

02:31:15 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely, Amy, and it does appear that we're hearing some gunshots in the area, so we're going to send it back to you right now. Get safe, Jessica. Thank you so much. Appreciate you.

02:31:24 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 1:

true professional to even do that like that would scare the crap out of me amy i know you want to

02:31:30 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 4:

keep this thing going a little longer but i'm sorry we probably should send it back to you this

02:31:36 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 1:

this is not a good situation uh tamar braxton sharing that she almost died after uh an accident this weekend and nobody really knows what happened a friend found her in a pool of her own blood she is now recovering from some pretty serious injuries including a fractured nose She lost some teeth. She can't, like, move very well. And at this time, nobody really knows what happened. Not many details have been disclosed, but she says she is emotionally drained, struggling to speak, and has begun a physical and mental healing journey from whatever this was. Interesting. Taylor Swift. Why? Why would you say it like that? Should I pause?

02:32:17 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 5:

A story going to come out in a couple days. Ain't no way you just fall out in a pool of blood. Don't nobody know what happened. I don't know. I just feel like this is the last we've heard of it. But I'm glad she's good, though. Shout out to Tamar.

02:32:29 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift not going to be performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas. If you heard the rumor, we talked to a spokesperson from the Sphere, and they said, while that would be absolutely amazing, and they love and respect Taylor, they have not had any sort of conversations with her team. And Target CEO Brian Cornell is stepping down after 11 years, not really a surprise to anybody. He took over in 2014 and really kind of revitalized Target that it was a struggling big box store at the time. But Target has actually been in a deep slump for a couple of years now, a result largely of its own decisions. not to mention intense competition from Walmart and Amazon and Costco. And then if you remember earlier this year, Target ended some of its DEI programs. And that decision really angered a lot of supporters who said they felt blindsided by Target. I know a lot of people decided they were going to boycott Target when that happened. And Target did acknowledge that move hurt its sales. So this guy stepping down as CEO, he's going to remain on the board somehow. and then somebody from within the current COO is stepping up to take his place. For everything you missed today, check out the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:33:49 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. What was I going to do? Oh, you know what I was going to do? I was going to promote again. The Cash for Your Class is coming back next week. Yes. We are doing cash for your class, and we are changing lives. Next week on the Mojo in the Morning Show, with the help of Moran Automotive, we are going to give you a chance every weekday morning at 7.30 and 8.30 to win $500 in back-to-school bucks so you can use it to buy your kids all the back-to-school supplies that they need, back-to-school clothing, all that. Then you will qualify for a grand prize that we'll do at the end of the week where the show is going to take your children on a $2,500 shopping spree for back to school.

02:34:43 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 1:

You were going to say $250, and you needed to add a zero.

02:34:46 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I was going to say $25,000.

02:34:48 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Take away a zero real quick. If the kid wants to buy a PlayStation 5, are we going to let him?

02:34:53 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:34:55 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, Dad, that was quick. School supplies, school clothes, expensive. Very true.

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 4:

Like, how does a PlayStation... I don't need $2,500 to get you a lot.

02:35:02 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 2:

This isn't Christmas or anything like that. This is back-to-school supplies. Just asking.

02:35:06 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 4:

Which, to me, was Christmas.

02:35:08 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 2:

Put this down.

02:35:09 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 4:

There was nothing like opening a fresh pack of Crayola crayons.

02:35:13 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 3:

Boy, when they updated it and put the sharpener in the back...

02:35:16 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That was the 96-pack.

02:35:18 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 2:

Do you know what we are going to do, though, for the kid? We're going to let them pick out the clothes that they want. Like, if their mom says, no, you can't do that. Because I remember my mom used to always tell me, nope, you can't have that. So that's what ended up having me go to Catholic school where I had to wear the outfit. I had to wear the powder blue shirt with the navy blue pants, which everybody wore. Every school seemed like they had the same stupid thing. And then we had the uniform store that we had to go to get. I'm completely off that.

02:35:46 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm with you, though. The uniform store is a real thing.

02:35:48 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 2:

So you'll win a $25,000 shopping spree. And then also, this is what Moran Automotive is going to do for you. They are going to write you a check for $2,500 to go towards your student's education. So this is all next week on the show. It is Mojo in the Morning's annual cash for your class. It's brought to you by Moran Automotive. Thank you to Brian Moran. We appreciate you so much for being part of this thing. It's awesome that you're doing this. Did you guys hear the story? There was a story that there's a missing guy. uh it looks like i think he's somebody like in maybe his 20s or something like that oh is this from the renaissance festival yeah last scene at the renaissance festival that was the last time that they they uh saw this guy and he's uh he's still missing right now and they're trying to figure out exactly where the hell he is and uh i saw this uh story pop up on the news it was last

02:37:13 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Angelus drives a 2006 Silver Jeep Commander. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Rockwood Police Department.

02:37:37 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 2:

All right, hold on. This is what he looks like, too. So this is Jacob and what he looks like for the camera. So you can see him right there. um but we got to see if we can help him out and help the family out and find this guy

02:37:51 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 4:

so that's very very scary and sad um they said his phone's off family family posting on social media said they've been trying to reach him but his phone is off that's a little bit of a drive

02:38:02 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 2:

02:38:14 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 3:

Meet me on the south. South. Sorry. Yeah, it's like 16 minutes from Grand Rapids, right? No, Rockwood? Isn't it? I thought that's where my man Tony was door dashing.

02:38:24 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 2:

Rockwood to Holly. Because I'm wondering if there was...

02:38:30 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 4:

Rockwood's down by like Flat Rock. It's an hour

02:38:34 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 2:

and 12 minute drive. Like in between, yeah. Yeah. So it's okay. So we gotta We've got to figure this out so if anybody sees them. I've got to tell you guys a story that's actually kind of interesting. Have you ever been to the Renaissance Festival?

02:38:49 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 4:

The last time I went, I was probably like Smith Sage. I was probably eight years old.

02:38:53 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so. I've never been. You've never been at all?

02:38:55 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 3:

I've seen like this lady get like away when she's serving people drinks. She like cuss at them and all that kind of stuff.

02:39:01 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Do you know what the whole Renaissance Festival thing is? Where they dress up and. Yeah, she was dressed up and she was.

02:39:08 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 3:

Open your mouth.

02:39:09 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you wench. Yeah, whatever the deal is. So there is a place just outside of Chicago, and it is called, what the hell is it called? Medieval Times.

02:39:21 - 02:39:21 | Speaker 4:

I've been to that.

02:39:21 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 2:

Have you been to that?

02:39:22 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 4:

I've been to one in Orlando. Yeah.

02:39:24 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 2:

So my son Jacob lives in Chicago, and his boyfriend is Chris, and they went to Medieval Times to go hang out, party, you know, you can drink there, I guess, and you can eat turkey legs. Yeah, and all that stuff. So they went out to go to Medieval Times, and when they were there, Chris uses his passport as his ID because he doesn't drive. He doesn't have a driver's license. So he brought his passport with him to show them as his ID so he could drink, and they had fun, and then he left his passport there. They got home, and he goes, oh, crap, Jake, I, you know, lost my passport. So Jacob's like, oh, I'll call Medieval Times, and I will ask for, you know, the passport. So he calls up Medieval Times, and the person answers the phone. Here to ye, here to ye. And is on the phone talking to Jacob. And Jacob's like, hi, we were there earlier today. You know, we were hanging out, sitting down in a booth, you know, over in the corner, whatever. He's like explaining this to him. And then he goes, yes? And he's like, well, you know, my friend lost his passport, and we were wondering if there's any way that you could try it. Huzzah! And the person would not leave character. So he said, which, by the way, can you look up the Medieval Times in Chicago phone number, and let's just call there and see if they'll answer the phone. I don't even know. But I don't know. Maybe they serve breakfast or something. So Jacob's talking to them, and he's trying to explain to them about the passport. And they say, oh, let me find. And they put them on hold for a while, and they got the music playing, you know, with the medieval type music. And the person comes back, and they found it. And the guy gets on there and goes, huzzah. And we found the thing. And then is talking to Jacob and not coming out of character the entire time. Their customer service person is literally not coming out of character. And he is having a conversation with them, and they're trying to explain to him that he can come pick it up, but he has to go to the Southport, or whatever the deal is of the place. Have you ever been to one of these places before? You guys, this is like unlocking a memory. Look at their website. Yeah. You get to pick your little, I don't want to call them a fighter. Yeah.

02:41:48 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 3:

You drink out of like a chalice. Yeah. That was a good time, bro.

02:42:29 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

There's no way anybody's there this early in the morning.

02:42:32 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 3:

02:42:50 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 2:

02:43:21 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 3:

02:43:40 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

02:43:47 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 3:

For 10 castles, yes.

02:43:50 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 2:

Wow, 10 castles. What does it cost to go to Medieval Times? $75. $75?

02:43:56 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:43:56 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah.

02:43:59 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 3:

$74.95. She did her homework, yeah.

02:44:01 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 2:

And what kind of food is it?

02:44:04 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 3:

At this one, it's all I'd say, plantains. No. So, you know, no plantains. So it's garlic bread, tomato biscuits, half of a rotisserie-style chicken, herb-baked potato, sweet-buttered corn on the cob, two servings of non-alcoholic beverages, the dessert is chocolate eclair, and you can have coffee. Can you buy alcohol? I would need alcohol to get through that.

02:44:28 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:44:29 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 3:

D'Angelo, what's up?

02:45:24 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, man?

02:45:25 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 3:

How you doing, buddy? How y'all feeling this morning? What up, bro? We're getting silly. What's happening?

02:45:29 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 1:

So I went to the one in Illinois last year, me and my wife, and she surprised me and got me knighted, man. That was so fun. What's that process like? So you actually, you go and they bring you to like the whole little, where they be sitting, the queen pull out her little pillow. You kneel down on the pillow and she knights you with the sword and you get a crown and a picture and all of that with the little cape that go on you. It was fire. Did you use that cape

02:46:10 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 4:

and get in character with your wife later on?

02:46:13 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 1:

Hey, we ain't gonna talk about that. She got nighted.

02:46:19 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 5:

You feel me? With the royal scepter. That's how I walk in the room.

02:46:28 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 3:

D'Angelo, I love it. I love it. I want to see pictures. Can you send us pictures? I want to see what they look like.

02:46:35 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got you. I'll send them over.

02:46:37 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 3:

All right. We got a tour stop. We got a tour stop for when we're in Chicago in October.

02:46:43 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes, y'all got to go.

02:46:45 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 3:

D'Angelo, we appreciate it, buddy. Huzzah! I appreciate that. Where are you on? Bye. Let me hear you. Come on, let me hear you.

02:46:51 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 4:

Huzzah! Huzzah! See you later, buddy. WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:47:13 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, it's one of those things where I've seen boobs pop out, but I've never seen the butt pop out. And Shannon, you did? What happened?

02:47:21 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. So Wes and I went to get ice cream last night. And after we got ours, we sat on a bench and we're just like sitting there catching up and eating our ice cream. And there was a woman who was probably around my age at the window ordering and she had her dog on a leash with her. And she was wearing those. I know Bianca and Lydia would know what I was talking about. She was wearing those short, fluttery workout shorts. They're like really popular right now. I feel like all the girls who are listening right now know what I'm talking about, too. But it was, they were very cute, but every time her dog went behind her, the leash moved the back of the shorts and you could literally see her entire butt, her whole left butt cheek and part of her right butt cheek. And I don't know how, as she's ordering and paying everything, I don't know how she is not noticing that this is happening every time her dog walks back and forth with the leash behind her.

02:48:16 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she knows.

02:48:17 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 2:

She, oh, girlfriend was definitely not aware. Everybody who was in line or by sitting by where Wes and I were, everybody was looking at this. And Wes looked at me with these big eyes and he's like, I can't look away. I'm like, I can't look away either.

02:48:32 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 3:

Like we're talking full cheek.

02:48:33 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

We are talking full cheek. And the way that it was, was half of the other cheek too. Wow. And she didn't know. She did. Come on now. She a flasher. She. She ain't care. She did not care.

02:48:46 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 3:

If your butt comes out, like, there's sometimes where people's boobs, like, are exposed, like there's a nipple exposed, and they say they cannot feel it. Can you feel it if your butt? I feel like if you guys were outside. Yeah, it was last night. You gotta feel, you gotta feel a little breeze on the crack, a little bit. I don't know, the temperature was nice.

02:49:04 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 4:

It was so damn funny.

02:49:05 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

02:49:06 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 4:

I can feel when a little bit of my back fat out. You tell me I ain't gonna feel my asses out?

02:49:09 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 3:

How many times, though, have you seen women where their skirts get caught up or something like that?

02:49:14 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it kind of depends. it depends like is the wind blowing is it freezing cold outside is it yeah but she i really truly don't think she knew that that was the case so did you i didn't say anything not at all i didn't know

02:49:26 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 4:

her as a guy though i i really enjoyed the fact that you and wes shared this moment together we

02:49:34 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 2:

did you know what i mean he was so funny he was like he was gonna get in trouble but he's like i Kale, look away.

02:49:41 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Have you ever had the butt pop-out moment or boob pop-out moment? And did somebody, like, say something to you? Like, you know.

02:49:52 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 4:

Put that up.

02:49:53 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, look down there.

02:49:55 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Nipples, too. I want to hear some of that. Because you're right, though. I've seen.

02:50:00 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 7:

I've never, I've had the pleasure of seeing it in real life, but I have seen it online where like the nipple just be out and somebody got to tell him like, fix your shirt, sweetie. You know, it's funny.

02:50:08 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's Wes, sorry, when Wes and I started talking about like situations like this and he said, it's a core memory that he remembers where he was canoeing with his granddad and he was sitting across the canoe from his granddad and his granddad was wearing really short like khaki shorts and a ball was just hanging out.

02:50:25 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 6:

you know what old guys that probably happens to because they get so uh so long but uh where they start start hanging but um the if if a guy's penis were to pop out you would feel it you know you would well you would instantly think he did it on purpose oh for sure like a woman's butt can pop out or a pervert right yeah the guy the guy gets called the pervert the woman just you know hey just uh it just popped out i think you did her dirty but not saying something to her I think you have to say something to her. As a woman, I think it's your responsibility to help her.

02:51:00 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I probably could have gone up and said, like, ma'am, every time your dog is... Thankfully, she did move. Like, after she paid, she walked to the next window, and it wasn't happening anymore. But, oh, my gosh.

02:51:11 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever worn clothing that was so loose, like where you jump into the water, your pants fall off or whatever? I remember as a kid getting de-pantsed in a swimming pool.

02:51:22 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 7:

I remember, like, being younger in swimming pools, and I don't know if it was the weight of the water that pulled it down, but you put your hands on the edge to try to get up. You know what I mean? Like, you don't take the stairs. You try to raise up, and it's just half, you know what I'm saying, my ass outside. You're like, oh, man. Jump back in the pool.

02:51:39 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 6:

Like, oh, no one saw me. What's going on, Beth? Hi. It's Mojo in the morning.

02:51:46 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:51:47 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 6:

Hi. What's happening?

02:51:49 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 3:

in um i just wanted to say so i'm a breastfeeding mom yes and i've definitely forgotten to tuck it back in after nursing in public and didn't notice until i was getting stared down by the guys oh no that's funny how embarrassed were you um only mildly because yeah and you know i'm proud

02:52:09 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 4:

of what i got yeah when you're in that phase as a mom it's almost like you don't care because it's

02:52:15 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 6:

you know, and your brain is so mushy too. Yeah. Uh, Melissa, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hey, Melissa, Melissa, Melissa, Melissa. You know what it is? It's that, uh, it happens,

02:52:30 - 02:52:35 | Speaker 5:

happens to the best of us. It's the Bluetooth. There you are. Melissa. Hi. That's me. Hi.

02:52:36 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 2:

You what's going on? What's happening? Good morning. I just caught that. I cannot believe she didn't let that girl sit there, and she

02:52:44 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 4:

did not tell her. Oh, it wasn't like it was happening for a long time, but yeah. Long

02:52:48 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 6:

enough that Wes was staring. Long enough

02:52:49 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 4:

that Wes was staring, yeah, for sure.

02:52:51 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 2:

You saw it first. For her entire order. It was long enough for her to join in and then to share the moment. It was definitely long enough to tell her, right? Yeah. And my butt cracked. Poor thing.

02:53:03 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Randy? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

02:53:07 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, hi. Well, I'm in my 40s now, but I was about 12, 13 years old. We had a little family cookout, you know, and my dad was sitting in a swing next to my grandma, and, you know, my dad used to wear them shorty shorts that all dads used to wear, you know, back in the day. And everything was hanging out on one side of his shorts. He said everything. Everything, the whole kid and caboodle.

02:53:36 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 6:

Did you guys let it happen for a little bit, or did you tell him right away, Dad, pull up those pants?

02:53:43 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know what to say, to be honest with you. I mean, it took a little bit until I finally told my dad. He got embarrassed, but I didn't know what to say at first. I'm like, whose horse is that? Whose horse is that?

02:53:56 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That's funny. Thank you for the call, Randy. I appreciate it.

02:54:01 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

All right.

02:54:01 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 6:

Have a good one. Bye. It's funny. When you see something like this happening, it never is something that happens anywhere other than a place where there's a bunch of families and kids. You know, the dairy twist. Tasty. It's funny. You ever go to those ice cream places that are like the little sides of the road places? The best ones. Those are the, I was driving through Plymouth the other day and I'm driving through Plymouth and I'm just randomly going and I see like the roadside maybe at one point it was a Dairy Queen now it's like the mom and pop like little one and they all are just like the best places ever. All right, we're going to be right back with more Second Date Update is next. Mojo.

02:54:43 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 1:

02:55:38 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:55:40 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on? I was wanting to know, kind of, you know, you never hit me up again. I was just wondering what was going on. I thought the vibe was going well.

02:55:55 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 4:

You thought the vibe was going well? That's funny.

02:55:58 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why did you, Tammy, did you not have fun?

02:56:02 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I was having fun at first. Until? He didn't even tell you guys?

02:56:12 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 3:

No, what you're, are you listening on hold? What you heard is what you got. He just told us that he went out with you, that you guys met through a friend, and he said that you guys aren't talking anymore. What happened?

02:56:27 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 4:

Wow, okay. Well, I saw him making out with another girl.

02:56:32 - 02:56:32 | Unknown:

What?

02:56:33 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 3:

You saw it? Wait, where?

02:56:35 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 4:

On the date. Hold on. I went to the bathroom, and when I exited the bathroom, I saw you making out with someone else.

02:56:47 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, you got some explaining there, dude.

02:56:49 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 4:

You don't remember that?

02:56:51 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know you saw that.

02:56:54 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 4:

I did in my entire life.

02:56:56 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 3:

Wait. Who was the girl? Justin, explain this. What's the story? Did she see something wrong?

02:57:03 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 5:

I mean, well, listen, I was a little drunk, you know. It didn't mean anything. I don't know. Like, nothing really happened, you know.

02:57:15 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 1:

Nothing really happened except you made out with somebody.

02:57:19 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 5:

People kiss, okay? Aw, come on.

02:57:22 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so stop for one second, because this to me, this is too much that you didn't even reveal to us that this happened. So you guys go out, you leave to go where, Tammy?

02:57:36 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 4:

I went to the bathroom.

02:57:37 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 3:

So you go to the bathroom, and then you come out, and you see the guy that you're on a date with kissing another girl. When you say kissing, making out, is it just he gave her a kiss?

02:57:47 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. Making out.

02:57:50 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 3:

Like?

02:57:51 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 4:

Full on.

02:57:52 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Is it somebody that you knew, Justin?

02:57:57 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

No, it was just, you know, I was just hanging at the bar, and, you know, I was waiting, someone approached me, and, you know, I was a little drunk. People kiss, man. I don't see what the big deal is.

02:58:09 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 4:

You're such a player. Do you hear how he's talking?

02:58:11 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Did you say something to him, or did you kind of just ignore it, and then you never hit him back?

02:58:18 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 4:

I was honestly in such a state of shock that I just kind of waited back by the bathroom for them to finish. And then I paid for my drink and then was like, got to go. I didn't bring it up.

02:58:33 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 3:

You know what? This is obviously a no-go for a second date, but has any other listeners ever experienced something like this? Have you ever experienced on a first date where you saw the guy that you're on a date with or the girl that you're on a date with, maybe not so much kissing or making out with somebody, But you ever see them hitting on somebody or flirting with another person? I would think that that could be something that might be somewhat common where people do that.

02:58:59 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 1:

But I actually have a friend who was on the receiving end of this where she was out with actually she was at market, the very famous market in Birmingham, hanging out with some friends. And she was, like I said, with girlfriends. And there was a guy who she could tell was on a date at the bar. The date goes to the bathroom, and the guy gets up and comes over to her and asks her if she wants to hang out later. And she was like, uh, it looks to me like you're on a date with somebody.

02:59:27 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 3:

No. Steve, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey. Hey. I just want to, I don't know if you guys heard him, but he literally said, I didn't know you saw that.

02:59:38 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, right off the bat. I mean, he admitted it right away.

02:59:41 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

listen when you're on a date things can happen okay i i didn't know okay we're at the bar we're chilling you know things happen you have to go with the phone and my tongue's in her mouth she just fell in when the margaritas hit

03:00:00 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

The margarita's hit.

03:00:04 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 2:

By the way, the mutual friend that introduced you to each other, Tammy, did you tell them what happened? Like, did you explain to them that this is what he did on the date? Oh, yeah, absolutely. Absolutely, I told her. Because that's the thing. That's why you don't want to set your friends up with other people, because you worry that you could lose a friend that way. That's pretty funny. Oh, my God. She was fully on my side. She felt bad. Did she see that Justin was that kind of a guy, that he would do something like that? No, she didn't. That's why she was shocked, too, just like I was. Yeah. All right. Well, seems more obvious than we need to get more involved in. So, second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning show.
