00:00:46 - 00:00:47 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:00:51 - 00:00:53 | Unknown:

It's showtime.

00:00:53 - 00:01:07 | Speaker 1:

Details on what's happening this morning with the 5 at 6.55 coming up here in just a little bit. Plus, contests are good. Lil Wayne tickets in moments. That was kind of a lighter one. That was more like a Benson Boone, yeah.

00:01:07 - 00:01:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:01:09 - 00:01:18 | Speaker 1:

Benson Boone sold out tickets later. And then we have a trip to Florida to give away. I'm excited for that trip to Florida. Are you going to?

00:01:19 - 00:01:20 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm going to Cozumel with the Joe show.

00:01:21 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know. That's where I'm going. I told Joe, I said, Kev was so, so taken by the fact that you guys are giving away these things. And he's literally sad. He goes, I got an extra one if he wants to come with us. I'll text him. Honestly, if you wanted to, I guarantee you he would love it.

00:01:37 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 2:

That'd be the crossover of the century.

00:01:39 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 1:

You know, like Chicago PD. I was going to say that. And SVU. Yeah. How they would get together. Yeah. That was one of my favorite things that they would do. Yeah. Why is Frank from Chicago PD all of a sudden hanging out with, what was her name? Why am I brain farting now?

00:01:55 - 00:01:57 | Speaker 4:

Mariska Hargitay.

00:01:57 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 1:

I know the actress's name, but what's her?

00:01:59 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Olivia Benson.

00:02:00 - 00:02:04 | Speaker 1:

Olivia Benson. Yeah, Olivia. You didn't have to do that. That's Taylor's cat's name, right?

00:02:04 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:02:05 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 1:

So she gets better with age. I love, I love, did you guys love when TV shows would do the crossover thing? I mean, I love when they do that on Chicago PD and Law & Order SVU. Yeah. But they also do, they did it way back when. You guys never will remember this. but way back when they used to have the happy days laverne and shirley one where those guys

00:02:25 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 2:

would do it if you ever heard of those i've heard of happy days those cases didn't know that one

00:02:29 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 1:

they would do that and that and then they also did it on the shows that were on um they did

00:02:35 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 4:

golden girls and empty nest which nobody remembers that but as a golden lifelong golden girls fan they did it with the doctor and his family that lived next door yeah and do you remember what

00:02:45 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 1:

was Friday nights on ABC called Friday night TGIF TGIF those shows would cross over with each other so which was always kind of fun too yeah um yeah we should we should do that we would do that if

00:02:58 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 4:

any of the other shows liked us there was if there was any kind of I mean we do it the Joe show a ton

00:03:04 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 1:

well we do it with the Joe show but we don't do it with any in our building or locally in town like I wonder what that would sound like be kind of fun like all of a sudden one day you kind of you know Next thing you know, you hear Jay hosting this show, Jay Towers.

00:03:17 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 4:

We could get a little Christmassy this year.

00:03:19 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:03:20 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that's how we do it.

00:03:21 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 1:

We should be. I thought about doing that last year when we did the Christmas in July for Breaking Entering Christmas. But then I was advised that that would not be a good thing.

00:03:32 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to have Anchorman beef. You know what I'm saying? Other stations meet us by the carcasses.

00:03:39 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hash out our differences. Well, that whole Hank Winchester thing turned into an Anchorman beef because, remember, Hank was calling out Jessica Dupnick for doing that story. So now, you know, the thing is he was all upset.

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 2:

Did she ever respond to that?

00:03:54 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 1:

She has not responded at all to it, but I did talk to her. So I did have a conversation with her.

00:04:01 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 4:

Actually, speaking of crossover, Jessica Dupnick was featured in one of my favorite local reporters, Charlie Langton's story about what's going on at Detroit Metro Airport yesterday.

00:04:10 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 1:

I saw that.

00:04:11 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

That was a great crossover. What happened?

00:04:13 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 1:

There's rats at the airport. Charlie was doing the report. But I don't know how Jessica was also there at the airport, too. That was kind of wild. So I don't know. They had two reporters reporting. All right. Real quick, I want to get to something very, very quickly. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. So today I had one of those days where I didn't know if I was going to be on time to get here. Thank God I give myself a little bit extra. But I woke up, went outside, took my garbage out today because the garbage day is today and I didn't take it out last night. I completely forgot about it. And I saw everybody's garbage out there. And I'm getting in my car, getting ready to leave. And do you have those neighbors? And what I mean by those neighbors, I'm talking about those neighbors that you know you can't trust. Actually. I Googled when I came in this morning thinking I should do this as a topic, and there was a study that said that 44% say they cannot trust their neighbors. 44% of people say that they cannot trust their neighbors. With what? With anything.

00:05:13 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Their life.

00:05:14 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Do you, you know, if you're thinking about, you know, would they be the people that you'd let them know where your hidden key is? Would you let them know your secret code to your garage? They slimy. Well, yeah. I don't know. I let friends know all that stuff, but I don't know if I let my neighbors. So I'm sitting in the driveway, and there's this house that is across the street from me where I have no idea who these people are. It's probably the only neighbors I have not met, and they have a bajillion cars in their driveway.

00:05:41 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

That's how it is.

00:05:42 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 1:

And it's kind of weird, okay? Unless it's, in Megan's case back in the day, Megan used to talk about the fact that you had a bunch of, you know, cars that never ran.

00:05:51 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:05:52 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

That they were just there. So they have that, and they have a bunch of teenagers, it seems like. Like, teenagers 20-somethings living in the house. I've never seen two adults. Like, I've never seen a parent.

00:06:03 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 2:

The beginning of a meth lab.

00:06:04 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay? Right? I sound like Vonda now. Okay? So, they were in the driveway at 4 o'clock in the morning while I am taking out the garbage. Or Olivia Benson. Yeah, I like that one. What is 4 o'clock in the morning doing? okay why are you there so i thought this doesn't seem right and i thought okay well maybe they're doing what i'm doing they're taking their garbage out but then i realized their garbage is already out and they're just sitting in the driveway with music playing their car on and the car headlights on and i thought these guys are scoping out to find out whose house they're going to go rob you know what i mean no so i waited and waited and waited there's violence in my neighborhood I see. I waited and waited and waited. And by the way, if you're somebody that wants to call out your untrustworthy neighbor, I want you to call out at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Sat in the driveway, and I just sat there for a while. And then I said to myself, oh, I know Dave McNeely, who is a police officer for the town that is next to mine, Orchard Lake. Shout out Dave. I'm going to call Dave. Didn't answer my call. Because he's asleep. Then I thought to myself, he must either be off or Dave McNeely's part of the crime. Maybe he's hanging out with these guys. You know how the cops go bad sometimes? Maybe that happened to Dave. So I'm sitting in the driveway wondering what should I do? And then I'm looking at the clock and I'm looking at my Waze. Because I do Waze every morning to the radio station to see if there's any stuff on the roads. And the Waze starts going later and later and later. And I started realizing it went from I'd be here at 515, I'd be here now at 518, 22, 23, 24. And I started thinking to myself, I think I got to go to work and let my wife deal with it.

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

You did your own steak out.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 1:

I did my own little steak out. And I realized I would not be good on a steak out.

00:08:13 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 2:

All you needed was donuts.

00:08:15 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 1:

The only steak I'm good at is Outback. I got a little crazy. So, long story short, I hope my house didn't get robbed.

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 2:

But if so, you know, you just left your wife there to deal with that.

00:08:28 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

I did. I left her there. We have guests, though, staying with us this week. So, she had backup. So, yeah. So, there is a man in the house right now. I don't know how much of a man Dennis is, but he's kind of old. Hi, Tracy. What's going on?

00:08:40 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

He's a male presenter. Not so much. Good morning. Listen to you guys all the time. Thank you. So. Love all you guys. Aw, we love you, too. We love you, too.

00:08:49 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:08:50 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm a little neighbor. He's a teenage kid. My mailman always tells me when this kid is in the neighborhood because everybody's packages that get put on their porch, he steals them. Oh, he's a purse diary. Man, a teenage kid. And he still hasn't gotten caught for it yet.

00:09:07 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

But has he caught him doing the stealing? Are we sure that it's him? We can't finger somebody without knowing who we're fingering.

00:09:15 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

We're asking permission. He took a picture. He took a picture and everything. and the kid jetted the neighborhood. He lived with his grandmother and he took off. Wow.

00:09:24 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 1:

So we think this kid is, like Kevin said, a porch pirate.

00:09:29 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes, very bad porch pirate. And unfortunately, his brother, who, when he turned 15, shot somebody over a $20 bag.

00:09:39 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, over a $20. A bag of what?

00:09:42 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 3:

A bag of weed. Teenage kids killed each other over a bag of $20 bag of weed.

00:09:48 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

Smoking the reflux. Wow. That's not good. $20.

00:09:53 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

It runs in the family. It does.

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Where do you live? What town do you live in?

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Port Huron.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 5:

Right in the red zone.

00:10:04 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 7:

That's right. PH, baby. Ah, man.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 5:

Why do you call it that?

00:10:08 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 7:

They do. They do. Now they do. They do. What's going on, Jordan?

00:10:14 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

So one of my old jobs, I used to have to start at all hours of the night. So I'd start at like 1, 3, 5 in the morning. Every time I would go outside, the neighbors would cross the street, car running, three or four kids in the car watching a movie, sleeping outside. I was like, what is going on? And they would do this for probably six months.

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What was the deal? Did you ever figure it out?

00:10:44 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 2:

Never figure it out. They ended up well, actually, they ended up getting it naked. Wow.

00:10:50 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you, something crazy is going on in those cars. You know what I I think it is, though. I think maybe it's a teenage kid banging his girlfriend or something in the car. You know what I mean? Like, you can't do it in your house, so you have her meet you in the car outside. But wouldn't it be suspicious?

00:11:04 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't you, like, drive somewhere and park instead of just doing it? Not all it's on.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 7:

It would be suspicious, though, that the lights are on, you know?

00:11:11 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Chad? Hey, Mojo. Why you got to call them out for Park and Spark? Park and Spark? What did you say it is? It's a hot box. Why you got to call them out for Park and Spark? It's when you park and smoke. Oh, is that what's going on? Yeah, why you got to call him out, Mojo?

00:11:28 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 7:

Why didn't you have smelled that? I don't know. Park and Spark is what they were doing, but I don't know why. They were also walking around the outside of the house, too. Maybe they were doing that. I don't know. I never heard of Park and Spark before. I heard of PH, but I've never heard of Park and Spark.

00:11:43 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 5:

See, we need to go back in the day, man. My grandma used to have a neighbor, a guy arrested her soul, used to stay across the street. She used to sit on her porch from sunup to sundown. If you needed to know anything that happened in the neighborhood, the lady across the street knew. Long gone are the days of the old ladies on the porch. I know.

00:12:01 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 7:

You're absolutely right. That is actually true. Every neighborhood had the old lady. Mine is Brittany, but she's not old. She's only like 30-something.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 3:

Might be me, actually. I'm on my porch as soon as I get up.

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 5:

Crap. Whitlam watches.

00:12:16 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Jessica?

00:12:19 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 6:

They're hot box in the car. Everybody's saying that.

00:12:23 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 7:

Everybody is saying that right now.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 6:

They're on their pop cans.

00:12:27 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 7:

Jessica, what neighborhood do you live in, and do you have some neighbors that you don't trust?

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 2:

No, I live in a pretty good neighborhood.

00:12:34 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 7:

Do you? Well, I want to move. Put a big old force in.

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 2:

When I was growing up, that's what it was.

00:12:39 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 7:

It was. A little hot boxing going on there. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:12:46 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day.

00:12:50 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 7:

What year did this stuff happen? It was the year that Tiger Woods, remember, he admitted that he cheated on his wife. Well, after the golf club to the Escalade happened.

00:13:00 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 8:

I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable.

00:13:07 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 7:

She beat the crap out of his car.

00:13:09 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 8:

And I am the only person to blame.

00:13:11 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 7:

Will Ferrell starred in the other guys.

00:13:13 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 1:

I never owned a new car. Found a deer vagina. Oh. What? Thought it was human lips at first. Then we took a closer look. It was definitely a deer vagina.

00:13:21 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. And this was the year that Kesha was hanging out with P. Diddy or something. I wasn't.

00:13:27 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

Remember? In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:13:36 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 7:

If you know it, we'll give you Lil Wayne tickets. Let's go to Sierra. Sierra, what year was that?

00:13:40 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

2010. There you go.

00:13:42 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, see? 2010. I love it. Congratulations to you. You are going to see Lil Wayne. Yeah. Yeah. No, you got to do it like Lil Wayne does it.

00:13:56 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 1:

You don't. I can't do it in voiceover.

00:14:01 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 7:

Like that. Like that. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:14:06 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 1:

It was wake up in the morning smelling like TV. Smelling like TV. Oh, God.

00:14:14 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 5:

What do you think? Maybe smell like after a party.

00:14:17 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 7:

Oil. Some kind of it. Yeah. Congratulations. Baby oil. Exactly. Consent. We love you so much, Sierra. Have a great time at the show.

00:14:27 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:14:28 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 7:

All right. Hang on the phone for one second.

00:14:30 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 4:

Hello, Jordan Mornings. Dirty on the 30.

00:14:33 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 7:

All right. Let's see what's trending this morning in the dirty on the 30.

00:14:36 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 3:

By the way, just because you asked, Elin Nordegren is now in a relationship with retired NFL tight end Jordan Cameron. I don't know who that is, but maybe you do. Jordan Cameron. There you go.

00:14:47 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 7:

You asked. Lucky guy.

00:14:48 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Brian Koberger, excuse me, you know that name because he is that creepy guy who took the lives of those four University of Idaho students.

00:15:00 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 2:

says prison is awful and he is claiming that the inmates won't stop hurling threats and crude sexual taunts his way and now he is demanding a transfer in a handwritten note actually he's he's written several the convicted killer is asking officials to get him the heck out of the idaho maximum security institutions j block coberger says he is on the receiving end of minute by minute threats and harassment and he detailed one incident where inmates were screaming really graphic sex sexual things at him which i can't even i can't even say i'm trying to read them going how could i say this i mean they have to do with butt stuff they won't tear that ass

00:15:44 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

i mean i'd be honest with you this is exactly what the family nuance in the family needs those families that had their innocent loved ones lives taken by this bastard this guy needs to die

00:15:56 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, and prison officials said, you can sit your butt right where you are in the J block. You can stick it out. You good. You are fine for now.

00:16:06 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 4:

Bro said prison ain't fun.

00:16:09 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 2:

I was talking to Cap about this before the dirty started. I don't know who this player is. Chicago Bears backup quarterback Tyson. Oh, I saw this guy crying. I think you pronounce his last name Bagent. Baggett. He's going viral this morning after signing a two-year, $10 million contract extension. 25 years old, separate university alum. Got really emotional discussing the deal that will kick in following the 2025 season and make him one of the highest paid backups in the NFL.

00:16:39 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 1:

A lot of people don't know this, but my dad is my right-hand man, and he didn't And he didn't even have running water until he was in high school. So there's definitely a lot of things and people that I think I could certainly help with this gift I've been blessed with. But, yeah, just little things like that. I don't really know anybody back at home with any money. So, yeah, it feels good. I mean, it's certainly a weight off my shoulders and my family's shoulders.

00:17:13 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 3:

I love hearing stuff like that.

00:17:14 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, the gratitude. Perspective is a beautiful thing. Yeah.

00:17:17 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

And what is the position he's playing? Backup quarterback. He's a backup. We don't even know who this guy is. He's the backup quarterback in Chicago? Mm-hmm. Oh, boy.

00:17:26 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:17:26 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. I mean, they're paying that guy. I didn't even have heard of this guy.

00:17:31 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, me neither. I saw the clip everywhere this morning, though, and I just loved what he said.

00:17:36 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 3:

I know that's such a good moment. Can I ask a question about the Lions backup quarterbacks? Who do we think should be the Lions' backup quarterback to Goff? We have so much riding on this season, and Goff has been pretty crazy healthy the last few years, and I just worry that we're risking our luck, and this Hendon Hooker turns out to be a dud. I mean, I don't know. What's the other guy's name? I don't know that man.

00:18:09 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

But I saw some people talking about Jameis Winston.

00:18:13 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Would they sign him? Oh, Kyle Allen, right? Isn't it Kyle Allen? A lot of people are saying Kyle Allen looks like he could be a starter somewhere else.

00:18:20 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I like Jameis Winston, though. If we were able to get him, I like his personality.

00:18:24 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 3:

Jameis Winston hasn't done anything anywhere.

00:18:27 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

He wins everywhere he goes.

00:18:28 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 3:

He hasn't won anywhere. Come on. Check his records. This is the Lions. This is the Lions.

00:18:33 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, let's go with Kyle Allen.

00:18:34 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 3:

You didn't even know his name. Let's go Joe Flacco. Let's get Joe Flacco.

00:18:37 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 4:

He's a starting QB for the Cleveland Browns. Why would he be our backup?

00:18:40 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 3:

No, he's not. Yes, he is.

00:18:41 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 4:

They named him the number one.

00:18:42 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 3:

They did?

00:18:43 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:18:44 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 3:

They're not going to have... Should do her? Yeah. Wow. No, I'm not. I'm sorry. It's 97.1 the ticket. We'll be right back after this. It's like 95 seconds of spoilers. That'd be all right.

00:18:53 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, gamers. Sony increasing the prices of the PlayStation 5 console starting today. So the PlayStation 5 now going to cost you $549.99.

00:19:04 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the sales, though, are down big time on that?

00:19:07 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 2:

The Pro is going to be $750.

00:19:10 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 3:

They're saying that PlayStation is right now another one where they may change their CEO because they believe that PlayStation has done a really poor job of keeping up with technology and making things to the next level. So that's another one of those ones. But they also say that, and I don't believe this, kids are not playing video games like they used to.

00:19:32 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 4:

Probably not traditional games. I believe it.

00:19:34 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

They say they're on their phones more doing games on their phones.

00:19:36 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 4:

Or Roblox.

00:19:38 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:19:38 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 3:

Minecraft. What do you play Roblox on? Yeah. Internet? Is it? Okay.

00:19:42 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a new survey finds that Americans consider an annual salary of $74,000 to be ideal. That is the number for achieving financial comfort and happiness. And this survey also found that... Side hustles are a big, big thing right now. Booming. 32% of non-business owners are either considering one, 29% already have a side hustle to add some money to their base salary for whatever they're doing. Wow. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. it's mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 what's up michael it's mojo in the morning

00:20:33 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 6:

welcome to sports talk right now we're out of the dirty i can talk as much as i want go ahead

00:20:37 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 10:

oh man it's first time i've ever called

00:20:40 - 00:20:45 | Speaker 4:

we got a new guy listener because we talked towards what's up

00:20:45 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 10:

hey uh no i just wanted to say i mean yeah that tyson badkin thing funny how you brought that up I watched that this morning, and, man, how grateful the kid is, you know. But going to what you said about Hendon Hooker, he's a dud. I think we should trade him for draft capital. Kyle Allen showed off in the preseason. And I've been a Lions fan. My dad was season ticket holder back to 0-16. You know, I'm as loyal as they come. And, yeah, it's just, you know, he's a dud. I think Kyle Allen, and we got such a good quarterback.

00:21:16 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 6:

What do you think of Jameis Winston? My buddy over here, Stoney, I'm Wojo, says that Jameis Winston, we should go out and sign him.

00:21:26 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, I think he would be a good number three. I just think Kyle Allen's the one who's put in the work. Jameis Winston had his good years, I know, when he played with Tampa. Okay. This guy knows his stuff. Yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, it's definitely a toss-up. It's a toss-up. But I think how he played was great.

00:21:50 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 6:

All right, call us more often, Mike. We need to have some testosterone to add to all of the estrogen that I have. What's going on, Marcus?

00:21:58 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 9:

What's going on? First time long? Hey, Marcus.

00:22:01 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 6:

We're doing sports segments on this show now. What's going on? Nick been telling me to do it.

00:22:06 - 00:22:37 | Speaker 9:

Hey, you know, I hate to agree with Mike, you know. I think Henning Hooker is definitely a dud. I think he was a bust for sure. I think that we wasted his early years if he were to do something. I think we should trade him away. Jameis Winston, I think that's a terrible idea. Yeah. It's not, bro. Let me just – I think, you know, he did – he had his good years in Tampa. I don't think he fits the culture for the Lions. What?

00:22:37 - 00:22:38 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:22:38 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 4:

Jameis Winston has been a culture fit every single franchise he's been to. He's an amazing locker room guy. All of his teammates love him.

00:22:45 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 6:

hold on hold on real quick real quick i'm sorry i gotta interrupt uh coach campbell your thoughts holy crap okay all right well listen marcus we got to get to uh you know this normal stuff that we talk about uh cheating and breasts and uh poop and all that stuff so i'm sorry i apologize where where i would love the opportunity to do more sports on this show our boss kind of gets mad at us but we kind of have some fun yeah once football starts basketball starts maybe we'll

00:23:46 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 6:

minutes on mojo in the morning all right it is mojo in the morning so lydia got faced with a little bit of scandal that she had to clean up yesterday after we did the five at 655 i mean i will say this i am staying completely out of this because i have a bias and if you don't know this show, maybe you didn't listen yesterday, sometimes when I have a bias, I usually take my bias to the next level and usually use it to my advantage.

00:24:17 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 4:

You start making theme songs. I do.

00:24:20 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 7:

Stanley Stevens, you're a certified cleaner. My love

00:24:23 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 6:

for Stanley was great, and it still is. But yesterday he lost in a game of the 5 of 6.55. He did not know who Demi Lovato was, right? Is that what it was? The song, yeah.

00:24:35 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 3:

We played the song Sorry Not Sorry.

00:24:37 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

so the controversy stemmed then later when people were saying that they thought that somebody on the show showed their bias against stanley and it happened during a question that was asked to amy who is now the reigning champion in the five at 655 let me play the audio for you so that

00:25:00 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 2:

you guys can all hear what happened. Let me get the

00:25:04 - 00:25:05 | Unknown:

dramatic.

00:25:06 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:25:08 - 00:25:09 | Unknown:

There you go.

00:25:10 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 2:

Circles singer is the latest model for Kim Kardashian's new Skims campaign. Who is he? There he is. There he is. Any clue? And question number five. If you look at this, Shannon, There is actually a scoreboard that's in the studio of Kevin waiting to ask three seconds. Normally, he's much faster with that. Circle's singer is the latest model for Kim Kardashian's new Skims campaign. Who is he? Three seconds. Three. Any clue?

00:25:49 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 1:

Paul Malone. That is seven seconds.

00:25:53 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

It was seven seconds. so some people believe that maybe kevin has something against stanley so lydia took it to social yesterday and when she took it to social uh lydia social showed that the listeners also

00:26:08 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 1:

love stanley is that right yes so majority of people voted to bring stanley back so

00:26:15 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 2:

he's here today oh yay the only person not cheering is one kevin over there no i listen i love stanley man it's just y'all acting different for this man and y'all did any other listener who's been in the same situation and i don't think that's cool stanley are you there

i'm here oh my god i love hearing your voice just put the smile on my face stanley this is a very

00:26:39 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 2:

interesting time in the five of 655 history you will go down in the history books as being the only contestant that was ever brought back after a loss um actually i think we have brought a

00:26:51 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was going to say that he's not the first.

00:26:52 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 2:

But how are you feeling today about this?

00:26:55 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 3:

I'm feeling good. I'm ready.

00:26:57 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, I'm happy to know that Stanley is ready because if you weren't, it would not be good. But here's the deal. You're not the champion still. The champion is the champion Amy who is on with us. So Bob, Queen.

00:27:11 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 1:

00:31:15 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second.

00:31:18 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 2:

Does that mean that Stanley wins? that's weak as hell why was that weak as hell so so so does she get a rematch tomorrow wait what did she because we don't like her as much there was no controversy you know it's never y'all only do this because y'all like him quit the cap y'all all right let me y'all showing favoritism when you're in a position of privilege sometimes when you get treated like everybody else it feel like mistreatment and that's what's happening i feel like he got mistreated that I do, Lost Parents Square yesterday. Stanley's giving us a fight leader. Hey, but do y'all, though, because I'm going to look like a hater because I ain't on everybody else's team, but I ain't afraid to stand on my own. Dog lost. He need to sit his ass home and play like everybody else and bring it back six months from now. Stanley. Stanley, you crush your wife doing sex and your heart sucks. Boom.

00:32:27 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 3:

on it. Hold on. Hold on. Let's see. Let's see what people think. Let's see what people think. Hold on a second. Hold on. Nick, what do you think, Nick? Hi. Hi, Mojo. This is unfair. I feel bad for Amy. How is it unfair? She bombed the first two questions. I went 14. I went 14 in a row and I didn't get to come back for my redemption.

00:32:51 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Was there any sort of controversy? Oh, good.

00:32:55 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, then you

00:32:56 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 3:

know why. There was no

00:32:58 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 2:

controversy this time. I'm sorry.

00:33:01 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 3:

Seven seconds. So now we're counting. I'm sorry. Kevin, by the way, is no longer going to be counting seconds because he takes advantage of people he doesn't like. Okay. We understand he doesn't like Stanley because Stanley wears glasses. What's going on,

00:33:16 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 1:

i'm doing great guys i absolutely love looking to you guys i listen to you every day i've been on five at 655 but you know kev i agree with you like i mean okay maybe there was some controversy but how do we you know like there's been other people that have won 14 in a row and lost like i mean we we gotta whatever like guys it's it's you gotta hear you talk other people in the future okay or they're gonna be like well there was some controversy don't get me wrong i love you guys absolutely and it's great you gave them another chance but it's

the world is about second chances come on amanda hi it's mojo in the morning hi

00:34:02 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 2:

why are you mad kev i'm gonna be mad listen listen i'm just not on everybody else's side so I look like a hater, but I got to stand up for what I feel is right. I don't think Stanley should have got another chance. And the only reason he got it was not because of the controversy, because everybody liked him, which is cool. That negativity doesn't look good on you. Hey, I think I look amazing.

00:34:24 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 3:

He's a likable guy, I'm telling you. What's up, Jalen? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts? Hey, morning.

00:34:30 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 1:

I was just calling to say that, I mean,

00:34:32 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 3:

you guys have given second chances before. I don't know why Kesley is so buttered. I don't know. He's got a little touchy hair today.

00:34:39 - 00:34:45 | Speaker 2:

I stand by what I said. He gets mad. You're going to have an easier time moving to Joe Louis statue than I'm moving.

00:34:45 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Misfit Tony, the DoorDash driver, is back with us.

00:34:52 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no, no, Mojo. Don't give me that nice guy stuff. Man, me and Kevin riding together, bro. Come on, bro.

00:35:00 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 5:

You brought Stanley, bro, good morning, man. I got your back, bro. You brought Stanley, whack-ass back. Come on. You got it wrong. Man, I'm pissed, Mojo. Tony. I'm literally pissed. Tony, hold on. Tony, Tony.

00:35:16 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, hey, Stanley. Stanley, say hi to Tony.

00:35:20 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Tony. Tony, you and yo, damn. I mean. You're Tony. I'm pissed. I'm Tony. Listen, get your driver and go home. Stanley, don't let them hurt your feelings

00:35:34 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 5:

Don't let it happen, Stanley Why don't we do this?

00:35:39 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 3:

Why don't we do this? Why don't we do this? Would it be fair to bring Amy back and we'll do best out of three?

00:35:45 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 5:

Best out of three It's burnt out at this point She should have faced somebody new today Best out of three She bombed today Amy, you sucked today It was unnecessary pressure on Amy today I did. I'm going to drink coffee tomorrow. You suck today. You suck. I love y'all. I love y'all. You suck. Yeah, suck ass. It's me and you, bro.

00:36:09 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey, back to back. We the weapon. We on the cover. All right. Stanley and Amy, thank you guys. Hold on a second here.

00:36:16 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the mornings. 5 is 6.55. 5. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids.

00:36:24 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 5:

WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Live. Guess what? The texter said I should play Stanley. Oh. You've never played, have you, Kat? You've never played. I'm for it.

00:36:42 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 3:

That's not a bad idea. All right. I've got to get to War of the Roses. Forget this crap. It's time to bust a cheater here, and especially this morning, because I have said numerous times, I know that women cheat as much as men do. So to prove it, we've got a woman on the phone that thinks that her girlfriend is cheating. We'll finally catch a woman hopefully cheating. It's funny. We never seem like we catch women cheating on this show. So we had to turn to a same-sex relationship. And I like this. All right. If you think that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500.

00:37:16 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:22 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 3:

Kelsey thinks that her girlfriend is cheating on her. And why is that, Kelsey?

00:37:27 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 2:

There was a day that she went out and she didn't come home.

00:37:32 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 3:

You know what? It's nice to know that women do that and not just guys.

00:37:36 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 2:

Where did she say she was, though, when you asked? Well, she went out with some friends. Yeah. And then she ended up sleeping over at one of the friend's houses.

00:37:48 - 00:37:49 | Speaker 4:

Male or female friend?

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 2:

Female friend.

00:37:51 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Do you know the friend?

00:37:53 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know pretty much all of her friends. Like, I like all of them. I don't feel weird about any of them.

00:38:00 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 3:

So it's not like you don't trust her being around these people that she thinks, you know, you don't think that there's anything going on with them?

00:38:08 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 2:

No, it's just ever since that night, she started acting differently. Like how? Well, she keeps, like, love bombing me. Um, like she, like she'll get me flowers every day and candies and like little gifts, um, which is, it's just, it's weird. She's never really done that before.

00:38:29 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 3:

So you think that the change in what she's been doing might be like a guilt thing? Like she's guilty about something that happened?

00:38:38 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I don't know.

00:38:41 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

So your reasoning for wanting to call her up to see what she does is, is she's cheating is that you think maybe she is cheating right now or has cheated.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:38:54 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to do a war of the roses and call your girlfriend out to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. I'm going to need you to mute your phone. All right, perfect. Okay, I thought you muted it.

00:39:09 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 4:

If she love bombing her by sending her flowers and candies and stuff. She's going to send them. Right, she's just going to send them to her right now.

00:39:15 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 3:

That's like a risk. Well, we're hoping that she sends them to Kelsey. So let's see what happens. It's War of the Roses. Hang on one second, mute, and Shannon's going to do the call.

00:39:41 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Hello?

00:39:44 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sorry. Hello? Is this Vanessa? This is Vanessa. Hi, Vanessa. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have like 30 seconds to answer, too?

00:40:00 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 1:

quick survey questions for me in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses okay uh have you purchased flowers in the last six months vanessa no okay do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months no but not really do you say no no yeah okay that's actually all i needed from you And as I thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with the arrangement, which is a dozen long stemmed red roses. That's the promotional arrangement. And so I just need to get a first and a last name of who you want to send these flowers to. And then we'll kind of go from there. Okay. Send them to Abby. Okay. Did you say Abby or Addie?

00:40:55 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 2:

Abby.

00:40:56 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 1:

A-B-B-Y Okay, and what is Abby's phone number?

00:41:02 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 2:

Um, one second Let me look it up Okay, are you ready? Yep Okay

00:41:13 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and what's her relationship to you? Uh, she's a friend Okay. And Vanessa, we do something unique at rosesbloom.com. Instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, we are going to send Abby a text message alerting her that she has a delivery. And then along with that text is going to be a voice memo from you that I'm going to record with you here in just a second. Does that make sense? Okay. Okay. So I'm going to count you down and you can just say whatever you'd like to say and then just pause when you're done. Here we go. Three, two, one.

00:42:00 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi. These are for you. Love you, guys. Have a great day. See you soon. Okay.

00:42:11 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 1:

Do you like that one? Vanessa. Yeah. Is that one good? We can use that one? Yeah. Okay. I also have to let you know really quickly that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah. Okay.

00:42:31 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to jump on just to wrap up the call and then we'll send those flowers off, okay? Okay. Vanessa, just wanted to let you know just one last thing while we're talking about this. We are going to send those flowers off, but I wanted to let you know that Kelsey, your girlfriend, has been listening in to this entire conversation and just heard you send flowers to another woman. Vanessa your girlfriend Kelsey called us up to see where you were going to send a dozen free roses and you just sent them to somebody else Kelsey is that somebody that that you worry about that she sent him to or

00:43:25 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 2:

I mean I know Abby

00:43:29 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 3:

and is it somebody that you think that is more than just a friend or is this just a friendship send

00:43:39 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 2:

not until now

00:43:41 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 3:

is that the person whose house she was staying at

00:43:44 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 2:

yeah

00:43:47 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 3:

Vanessa there's one part that kind of got us a little bit and the part was when we talked to Kelsey originally she said you've been sending her a whole bunch of stuff and we asked if you send flowers and you said nothing you said that you don't you said you don't send anything

00:44:13 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 1:

is she still there?

00:44:16 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Kelsey why would she? I think she is Kelsey why would she say that?

00:44:22 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:44:30 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 3:

Vanessa, why would you say that you don't send stuff?

00:44:38 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 2:

Because I knew it would make her upset.

00:44:43 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 3:

Because you knew what?

00:44:46 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 2:

That it would make her upset. So I just, she's just a friend, so I didn't think it would be a big deal. I didn't want to get her upset for no reason. There's nothing to worry about.

00:44:57 - 00:44:57 | Unknown:

That's a lie.

00:44:59 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I don't think she understands.

00:45:00 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 2:

your question. No, I don't think you understand what I was saying and not that I think it even matters. Are you saying that are you saying

00:45:07 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. How would she even hear this voice message that you're sending her to be upset in the first place? She would never hear it because it's not going to her. It's going to Abby who you sent the flowers to.

00:45:25 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 5:

Right. But she did hear it.

00:45:30 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 6:

So, okay, why did you send the flowers to Abby instead of sending them to your girlfriend?

00:45:39 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 5:

Because she's my friend. And I don't know, why not? She's just my friend. I wanted to send my friend flowers. What's wrong with that?

00:45:52 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 2:

So you don't think that this would be something that a girlfriend would be upset knowing that her person is not sending her something, not being top of mind.

00:46:08 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 5:

She's always on my mind.

00:46:11 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 2:

Who's always on your mind?

00:46:14 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 5:

Kelsey.

00:46:17 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Didn't sound like it there. Kelsey, how are you feeling?

00:46:24 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 5:

Not great.

00:46:27 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

yeah do you want to talk to vanessa more by yourself no okay all right then i'm gonna uh i'm gonna put vanessa on with our producer and i'm gonna have you uh talk to us okay yeah and i want to find out what you think 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 let's unravel this And we'll be back with War of the Roses next. Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. And Kelsey, thinking that her girlfriend is cheating, she's kind of changed a lot after she didn't come home. And we kind of have a weird situation going on here. Very, very weird. Because when Shannon asked the questions and she says, If you send flowers recently, the answer that Kelsey's girlfriend, Vanessa, gave was no. But yet Kelsey's reasoning for thinking that there's cheating was the fact that she's been getting a whole bunch of stuff from her girlfriend.

00:47:40 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 7:

Unless she's buying, like going to the store and buying them.

00:47:44 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:47:44 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 7:

I don't know.

00:47:45 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

And honestly, I don't even know what her response actually meant when she was asked the question about that. Because I don't think she.

00:47:51 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 7:

I don't think she understood what I said.

00:47:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't think she understood that we were told by Kelsey about all the stuff. Shiana is on with us right now. What's up?

00:48:01 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo. I just was noticing when you guys were talking to Vanessa, it was almost like she had to think about it when you asked her about sending flowers and why she did the message to Vanessa. and when you said something about talking about her and you asked her, well, who are you talking about, she took, for me, way too long to say Kelsey. If she had been thinking about Kelsey, it should have been immediately Kelsey.

00:48:36 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, and also it seemed, and I will say the opposite of that, too. I will say this, that when she did say the person who she sent him to, which was, I think, Abby, when she said that name, it seemed like right away she knew she was sent it to Abby because she said Abby and she said her last name right away. Yeah, I mean, definitely Kelsey was not top of mind to be, you know, the first person that Vanessa was thinking about this morning. Andy, what are your thoughts? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:49:03 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 4:

You know, I think she's playing the field, and I think, Cassie, I honestly, I think, did they get a commitment here? Is this kind of like the big picture? Is it like high school where, you know, I'm with you, but all of a sudden I'm dating somebody else? I think without the marriage thing, there's no commitment.

00:49:25 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, you can't say that, though, if you're dating somebody.

00:49:28 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 7:

And you think there's a commitment.

00:49:29 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you think. I think once you're...

00:49:31 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 7:

Which she obviously did.

00:49:32 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I agree with that, and that's what I'm saying. If there was that commitment, Melissa, or whatever her name is, she just playing the field. It's like somebody in high school. So, you know, I'm with her, but I'm going over here and with you a bit.

00:49:47 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Vanessa definitely has her friends. And I think that this is one where we want to know how close she is with those friends. Corinne, do you think that they're cheating? You think that Vanessa and this other girl, Abby, are cheating?

00:50:00 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 6:

cheating i do not i do not really i think that her message because i think that the message she left her with her for her would have been a lot more raunchy it would have been something completely different than have a great day love you lot but i gotta tell you though her voice

00:50:17 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 1:

tone was interesting i thought her voice tone was was uh that of somebody that seemed like she cares more than just as a friend i don't know i'm gonna go back and listen i don't know i think her

00:50:27 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 6:

voice i was shocked oh my god i'm on the radio and i'm just busted sending flowers to a girl i spent the week with and i didn't do anything you could also be thinking that way too i would be caught off guard anybody who's going to be last on the radio and then didn't know it yeah it's going to be like wtf is happening right now right i want i'd like to ask this question i'm going to

00:50:47 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 1:

throw this out there uh to anybody that's in a same-sex relationship because i've often wondered this. Um, when you're in a same sex relationship, like, okay, I'm, I am in a, what is called heterosexual relationship. So I am with my wife. So if I go out with a woman for a lunch, okay, I will probably be looked at differently. If my wife is not somebody that is comfortable with that woman, if she doesn't know that that's a person I do business with, or I have a friendship with if it was just a random woman okay that's you know usually the case where if i have it i'll say hey chelsea i'm going to lunch today with you know whoever lydia shannon bianca whatever yes and we'll have the conversation and she she's fully okay with that um in a relationship like this with kelsey she's spending the night at other women who are also gays home do you worry about that like like if i all of a sudden was just spending uh time at another you know uh woman's house and i'm randomly hey she's my girlfriend we're just hanging out you know what i mean

00:51:55 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 3:

like that just doesn't look good like wes would never worry if i was spending the night at like my friend lindsey or ashley's house because it it's yeah you are you are until you start

00:52:04 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 1:

continuing to watch the hunting the hunting wives right you are not a lesbian yet you will be a

00:52:10 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 3:

After last night we started it, I might not be allowed to anymore.

00:52:14 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

That's absolutely right, though. That's one of those, I guess, accepted double standards. Well, I'd love to know. I'd like to know. Let's open it up to the lesbians. Shout out to the lesbians that are listening this morning, and we'd like to hear your thoughts on this one. Lesbian! Have you ever had to worry about that? Let me grab Kelsey again. I want to talk to Kelsey. Kelsey, have you ever worried about Abby before? the fact that Vanessa had this friendship?

00:52:41 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 4:

No, not until recently, but I had no idea.

00:52:51 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 1:

Was there ever a time that you ever thought that you were being cheated on or that Vanessa wasn't being faithful to you?

00:53:01 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:53:02 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 1:

So this is the first time that this has ever come up?

00:53:06 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:53:07 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys spend a lot of time with the person that she sent them to? Would she say Abby?

00:53:17 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah, she's like one of her closest friends. Like sometimes we hang out all together, but they hang out separately too.

00:53:28 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 2:

This is a dumb question. Is it known that Abby is gay? Yes. Okay.

00:53:36 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 1:

So could it be that she's just sending her the flowers as a friend? And then, I mean, people love their friends, or do you think that she's, there's something more going on here?

00:53:50 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I don't know.

00:53:52 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 1:

All right. I want you to hang here for one second, okay?

00:53:56 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:53:58 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 1:

Ray, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning, Ray.

00:54:03 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hi, Ray.

00:54:04 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:54:05 - 00:54:06 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:54:06 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 1:

You caught me off guard. I thought it was going to be a dude. This is Ray. What's up, Ray?

00:54:11 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is Ray, yeah. Just to come from experience, I'm currently with my best friend. I've been with her for the last five years. We were best friends since elementary school. Okay. And I'm not saying this is the case, but, you know, getting drunk and, you know, girls like to kiss girls, and it leads to other things, and it led to us being in a relationship still to the day. and I left my old girlfriend for her, basically. Oh, okay, so you are gay,

00:54:42 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

and you have best friends that are best friends, but you guys also mess around.

00:54:48 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:54:49 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay, all right.

00:54:51 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 5:

Your vagina just tried to bite me.

00:54:53 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

I mean, you know what I mean? So can you say this with all?

00:55:00 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 4:

100% of your being can you trust lesbians I just want to know you in most cases you can I want to say like uh it's very a strong connection on a more intense connection I should say okay but um sometimes you know you the fights are way bigger than you know two girls fighting you know

00:55:22 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 1:

okay so I mean yeah thank you Ray for the call I appreciate it uh Annika is that how I pronounce

00:55:29 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 3:

your name annika annika what's up annika so um i've been with women since i was like 15 and i've come across that absolutely not it is a problem to be friends with females my best friend is a female and anybody i date is like threatened by her or thinks that i'm doing stuff with her and she's like my sister it seems to me like most lesbians feel like if you got of your friends with other women you're automatically sleeping with them so you're dating

00:56:05 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 1:

people like the person that you're dating has not usually comfortable with you going over to

00:56:10 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 3:

your best friend's house so what do you do i i'll be on dick put me on tracker man i'll be on

00:56:17 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 1:

tracker have you ever been romantic at all with your best friend uh no okay no it ain't like that

00:56:25 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 3:

I got a handful of friends, like, even back from high school, I'm still friends with that I've never, I've never, you know. And to answer you, you asked the last person, Mojo, is let it be as trustable. They are unless their name is Annika.

00:56:42 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Annika. Give yourself more credit, Annika. You're great. I love you.

00:56:48 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm really good. I'm sure you'd probably get 1,000 phone calls like, forget her. Forget her.

00:56:55 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 1:

Say that tongue. Got some miles on me. I love you. Thank you for calling. Appreciate you so much. Jennifer, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Where are the roses?

00:57:07 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I have an interesting perspective. I think that she was with Abby when Shannon made the call. And that's why, number one, she said that she hasn't sent flowers or roses in the last six months.

00:57:21 - 00:57:21 | Unknown:

Oh.

00:57:21 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 2:

And number two, that's why she sent them to Abby right away, first thought, because when she was leaving the memo, there was a small little part where somebody in the background said, love you, too.

00:57:36 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Find out. Let's listen back to that. And then, Lydia, let's ask Kelsey where Vanessa is right now. We need to find out more information. That's a good catch, if that is a good catch there, Jennifer. Wow. Detective Jennifer. That is pretty darn good. Man, oh, man. Look at these texters that are coming in. Let's get some more lesbians to call. Well, 616 says, Mojo, I am a gay woman, and I am not allowed to hang out with other females. I wonder if there's a story there, though.

00:58:12 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 2:

There's got to be some sort of incident or something that sparked that.

00:58:16 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 1:

7-3-4 says, Mojo, assigning gender based on a person's voice or name isn't kosher. What is that, Ray? When I called out Ray? I thought Ray, okay, I'm sorry, but most Rays that I know are men.

00:58:29 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 2:

Every time we have a Shannon call, you think it's a girl, and we have a- And we have some female Shannon. No, we have some male Shannon. We have some-

00:58:36 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 1:

I thought you were a guy when I first met you. I don't know. But come on. Let's not go down that path. Go down that path, whoever you are, 7-3-4. And then, oh, another one here. 248 says, I am gay and my boyfriend would never let me have a sleepover at my guy friend's houses. I mean, come on. I get it. I hate to say this. I hate to say this. You can't stop love, right? You can't stop lust. Lust is tough, you know what I mean? And one thing can lead to another.

00:59:14 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

I think you're just inserting yourself into a situation that could be not a great situation in those cases.

00:59:21 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 1:

Kevin and I never have sleepovers for this reason. That's not the reason. Kev gets so uncomfortable. It's just weird. It's just weird. Kevin, be honest with us. And I know that this is going to be hard for you to admit to. Yeah, okay. As I scroll to find that Kev drops. Kev, the last time you and I had a sleepover You loved it, didn't you? There you go Have you ever slept in his house? No, not You haven't?

00:59:51 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 2:

I actually thought you had Mike has many times

00:59:54 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Mike and I had sleepovers and fell asleep on the couch Next to each other holding hands It was fantastic That's cool

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 6:

I want that for y'all.

01:00:01 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 2:

01:00:58 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 3:

Hey, everyone. It's Cal Penn. I'm the host of Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club. This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary, massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth. I really had to make a decision because

01:01:25 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 4:

I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, okay, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me. And I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, Yeah, dude, me too.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:02:30 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 2:

Let's get caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Hi, Shannon.

01:02:33 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So this is kind of interesting to me. Morgan Wallen is not going to submit his 2025 album, I'm the Problem, for consideration at the Grammy Awards. He is also going to refrain from submitting individual songs for award categories, like best country solo performance. However, his collaborators will be allowed to submit songs they co-wrote with him. So Post Malone, Tate McRae, Hardy, Eric Church. And this album, I mean, we've talked about this a ton. Every song off this album, to me, is a hit. There have been legitimate multiple number one hits from it. So why is he making this decision is the question. And I really don't have any details.

01:03:19 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 2:

No, it's because, no, the details are that he feels slighted by them.

01:03:23 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know he's, but he has not come out to say that. In the past, he has said he has felt under-recognized by the Grammy Awards. This time around, though, he has made no statement. He has just simply said, or has simply made it very clear he's not submitting for anything. So everybody's just assuming it's because, you know, the past decade of his career, the past whatever, seven years of his career, he's, I think he's gotten like maybe one.

01:03:47 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 2:

And can I tell you, he never even got Best New Artist, I don't even believe, did he? Or maybe that was the only one. I got this guy's back on this one. I give him credit for this because he's turning down a chance to win the most prestigious music award saying to himself. It's crap. If you guys didn't think that I was good when I first came up, don't do it now for the publicity of you thinking that I'll be making your show better.

01:04:12 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 1:

And there have been a ton of prominent artists who have done this same thing. Drake, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean have all previously either boycotted or been very public in their criticism of the Grammy Awards. So Morgan Wallen now joining that list.

01:04:26 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 2:

I like it. By the way, I still love the way he does his walkouts at the beginning of his shows. He had a Cleveland show this last week and it was weird. He had Detroit's Kid Rock there doing it.

01:04:37 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 1:

But I didn't see that.

01:04:38 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 2:

If you follow on air Mike, though, from Mike, from, you know, show here, throwback throwdowns, you hear him on Fridays. Did you ever see him do his treadmill imitation? I did see that. I did see that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw that last year. I thought it was actually very, very funny. It's such a Mike thing to do.

01:04:55 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Judge Frank Caprio, the beloved caught in Providence TV judge known for his kindness in the court.

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 4:

courtroom, he's also all over TikTok, has died at the age of 88 from pancreatic cancer.

01:05:05 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

He was the compassionate courtroom judge seen by millions, whose rulings changed so many lives

01:05:10 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 6:

for the better. I think 959 is close enough to 10. Matt was dismissed. Thank you. For 40 years,

01:05:18 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Judge Frank Caprio would hear cases from his Providence, Rhode Island bench, along the way earning the reputation as America's nicest judge. In that location,

01:05:28 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 6:

It's like mad lights. I was confused. In your lane of traffic, there's a green light. In the other lane of traffic, which is not your lane, there's a red arrow. See, I knew. He had a great argument. He came in well prepared today. Guilty or not guilty? What do you say?

01:05:44 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 2:

Guilty.

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 6:

Guilty.

01:05:45 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 2:

In later years, his hit TV show, Caught in Providence, put his humor and heart on full display.

01:05:52 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 6:

I was making a right-hand turn. Did you ever read the driver's manual? I mean, it was so long ago. I don't even know what I had for breakfast. His family sharing,

01:06:01 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Judge Caprio passed away at the age of 88 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Judge Caprio would often say he wasn't always so compassionate. His first day on the bench, his father proudly watching on. The young judge was tough on a mother of four who hadn't paid her parking tickets, and that didn't sit well with his father. He said, Frank, she had four kids.

01:06:23 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 5:

I suppose she can't feed the kids tonight if she paid those tickets. No, she doesn't have a car. She can't drive them to school.

01:06:31 - 01:06:38 | Speaker 2:

What are you doing? You weren't brought up that way. The moment would change the course of his life and so many others.

01:06:38 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 5:

My first day on the court set the tone of my judgeship of over 30 years. After that, I took everybody's personal situation into consideration.

01:06:50 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

That's nice.

01:06:51 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:06:52 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 3:

That clip of that little boy who said guilty was the cutest. It was a dad. He had a traffic issue, and he brought his little kid up to the thing. He said, what do you think, guilty or not guilty? And the little kid said, guilty. That was one, I think, the first ones I ever did. I actually got teared up yesterday when I saw that. He was actually a cool guy. I liked him. I liked that he ended up getting his show, and I think Judy, Judge Judy, helped him get that.

01:07:17 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:07:18 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that she was somebody that helped him get to a point. And he never moved from Providence, which I thought was pretty cool that he stayed in Providence, Rhode Island.

01:07:26 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 4:

I saw the video yesterday making its rounds. A little situation at Detroit Metro Airport. That situation, rats in Terminal A.

01:07:38 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, and here's Charlie Langton from Fox 2.

01:07:44 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 7:

I tell you what, we're here at the airport. And, yes, there is a video. It's going viral because it allegedly shows rats in the airport. Yes. We reached out to the airport. We got a statement from them. They said the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are working with our contractor to address the issue. Now, we wanted to ask some travelers what they thought about having rats in the airport. Take a look. Rats? What? Okay. No, it's disgusting. There's a rat there. Oh, my God. Oh, no. Have you seen the rats? Yeah, I did. In the airport? Yes, I did. And you're working here? Are you nervous? I mean, yes, I am. I was. What are you going to do? I'm going to go to the bar.

01:08:38 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it's not preferable, that's for sure. Watch where you're walking.

01:08:41 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 7:

Is that real? Yeah. What do you think? What do you think?

01:08:44 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if it gets around the food or something, then maybe we should get, like, a health inspector or something. But, yeah.

01:08:53 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 6:

Look at that. Oh, it's a big one. Now I'm going to need an extra glass of wine before I get on my earphone.

01:09:00 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 4:

I mean, there they are, too. Oh, God. Do you know what I saw today? Two biggies. What?

01:09:05 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 3:

I saw a cockroach in our building today.

01:09:10 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 4:

Please don't tell me that. Where at?

01:09:13 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Right past the security guard in that little hallway that's there. Yes. Walking. It stared up at me. It looked up and it said, have a good show. Exactly. By the way, what would you do if you were on an airplane in the middle of the flight and you saw a rat run up the... Oh, my God.

01:09:31 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 4:

I'd sit crisscross applesauce the entire time. Take your stuff off the ground.

01:09:36 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 3:

Do you think they would emergency land for rats?

01:09:38 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:09:39 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, it depends on what it is.

01:09:41 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that considered a biohazard? I don't know. You get that mother effing rat.

01:09:46 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. That mother.

01:09:48 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 4:

01:12:14 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 3:

This is crazy.

01:12:15 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 2:

I mean, the idea that we're going to be going on the shopping spree is going to be so much fun. I cannot wait for that part.

01:12:20 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 3:

We're going to make it cool. So exciting.

01:12:21 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 2:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. Kev, do you ever lie? I couldn't imagine you being a liar.

01:12:27 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 3:

I do my best not to. That's the thing that I think is the worst quality in a person is to be a liar, and I try not to do that. And it got me in trouble yesterday. Got me in trouble this morning, too, with 565, but that's a whole other thing. It got me in trouble yesterday with a friend of mine who I've come to grow in love. and this friend has long beautiful flowing natural hair okay has always had long hair goes all all the way down to her butt she's going out of town she's going to a wedding in Portugal which is beautiful I've never known anybody to get married in Portugal so I'm like this is about to be fire she's been you know doing her thing buying dresses all this stuff she's obviously excited for some strange reason and all of the excitement and all of the dress shopping all of the I want to look my best the pictures are going to be fire all the things she decides to cut her hair now it's not pixie cut so she's not going from long flowing to like this short taper fade like it's not that type of thing but she cut it to her shoulder and she facetimed me yesterday i facetimed her real quick she's like i'm in the hair salon i'll call you right back i gotta show you something hung up maybe like an hour or two goes by she facetimes me and i see this new hair And I don't think it looks that good, to be honest. Like, she had long, beautiful hair. I thought she looked amazing with it. This short hair just doesn't do it for me. So when I see her on FaceTime and she's like, what do you think? I'm like, I don't like it.

01:13:53 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 2:

He is so honest, isn't he? I don't like it.

01:13:56 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't feel like I should have to lie simply because you're my friend. I want to make you feel better.

01:14:00 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

You are honest to a fault. You are not smart.

01:14:03 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 3:

Why? Why do I have to lie, though?

01:14:05 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Because you don't say that to a woman.

01:14:07 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, but she asked you. A friend? Yes, a friend. She's on FaceTime. She's like, what do you think? And I'm like, I don't like it. She immediately, first she called me rude. She's like, why would you say that? That's rude. Hung up to FaceTime. And I've been texting her and she hasn't replied yet.

01:14:24 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 1:

If she didn't ask you and you just said, why did you cut your hair? I hate it. I would say that was rude. But she did ask you. I don't know. I always appreciate when Wes is very honest with me. I appreciate my friend Ashley. the reason i love her so much is she does not mince words she is honest with you and sometimes

01:14:41 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

it sucks but i do appreciate the but this friend of kevin's may not uh look to him as being the honest friend i don't i'm honest i don't think everybody you know everybody you have your sister for that you have your you know and honestly i think wes is dumb for doing it to you too i think you don't

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Don't tell your girl.

01:15:01 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 1:

No. Like, if I'm getting ready to go out and I have an outfit on and I say, does this look okay or how does this look? And he's like, you should probably change the shirt. I really appreciate that. That's crazy. And sometimes I'll be like, no, I like this. I'm good.

01:15:14 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 3:

Give your marriage a couple of years. That ain't going to go well with you. You're going to ask one question that he should not answer honestly. Wes, please don't answer it.

01:15:23 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't want a relationship where I can't be honest.

01:15:25 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:15:25 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 2:

Now, if I say I don't like it and you stand on your own and say I don't care what you think, I look great, then I'm still going to love you. I'm not going to walk COVID-style six feet away from you because I don't like what you're wearing, but I'm not going to lie and say I love it.

01:15:38 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Obviously, your friend wasn't looking for honesty because they're not returning any of your messages.

01:15:47 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 1:

That's hurtful. Wait, how exactly did you say it?

01:15:50 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 2:

I was like, I don't like it.

01:15:53 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 3:

I would never ask him for it.

01:15:54 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 1:

I think you could have said it a different way, but... I said it how I felt.

01:16:00 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? One thing about Kevin...

01:16:01 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 1:

Like, maybe you say, I loved you with long hair, but you're beautiful no matter what.

01:16:06 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 2:

I said that afterwards. Okay. But it didn't matter because the bee had already stung.

01:16:11 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 3:

One thing about Kevin is Kevin can get away also with a foot in the mouth type thing. Like, he gets away with saying something that he shouldn't be saying because he can do it by just going, I'm just Kevin, that's just me. You know what I mean? there are people like me I will never say that

01:16:26 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 1:

but you are

01:16:27 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 3:

I kill them with kindness

01:16:30 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 1:

yeah but you know when you're lying because you're not a good liar

01:16:34 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea always says you know when I'm lying when my mouth is moving

01:16:37 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 1:

I just know now when you're lying

01:16:40 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 3:

my brother I know when he's lying because he turns into a ventriloquist because he does the thing where his mouth looks like he's got Bell's palsy or something like that?

01:16:52 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 1:

You do this thing where you kind of do a side smile and you walk to the side.

01:16:58 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 3:

That must be running into the family. Texture here says, I did the same thing, Cav. I do not lie. I don't know who you did it to, but call us up or answer our phone calls on some of these. 231, and by the way, when you do text, Lydia will call you. So if you get a call right after you just send a text, pick up the phone. We want to talk to you. And if you're a first time, long time, we want to know. So 231 says, Kevin, she would have wanted you to be honest with her if she said, be honest with me at the beginning. What did she say?

01:17:30 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 2:

She said, what do you think? What do you think? Look at my hair. What do you think? Yeah, she didn't say be honest. She didn't give the disclaimer. What am I saying? Why do I need qualifiers in order to be truthful?

01:17:39 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 3:

Because she basically was looking for a guy to say you look hot. What's up, Lexi?

01:17:44 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 6:

What's up?

01:17:46 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 3:

How you doing?

01:17:48 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. How are you?

01:17:49 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing okay. Lexi, what do you think? Did Kev do wrong?

01:17:53 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 6:

No. He said worded it different, I guess, because that is a strong word. But if you don't like it, you don't like it. Thank you. Don't lie to me about it.

01:18:04 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever lied to a friend?

01:18:07 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:18:08 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 3:

No? Never. So you tell your friends all the honesty. Really? Okay, you're honest when it comes to stuff like that. William, hi, what's up?

01:18:17 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how y'all doing? what is the difference explain okay well you can tell somebody how they look without telling them

01:18:36 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 1:

how you honestly feel about it being bluntly so like what would you have said in the case of his

01:18:41 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 4:

friend i would say hey oh hey that looks really cute but perhaps maybe no you know what though

01:18:52 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 2:

i kind of like it it's it's a softer approach i like how it looks but perhaps go back to

01:18:57 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 3:

william i think that's worse actually than what you said but i think you got to do it in a way like william too where he goes i like it but perhaps i want to hear kevin say that yeah Lauren, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:11 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 5:

Hey, y'all. Hey, Lauren. I just wanted to tell, hey, y'all. I wanted to tell Kev, to me, in my opinion, as a woman with male friends, I wouldn't care less about your opinion. Like, I wouldn't be mad about it. It might, like, piss me off for a good five minutes because it's not what I want to hear. But if y'all are really, if it's strictly platonic between both of you guys, I don't understand why she cares so much. So maybe if you, Kevin, you might not, like, for you, Kevin, you're just friends. But maybe she likes you a little bit more. That's a good point. Oh, man.

01:19:44 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 3:

That's actually a really good point, Lauren.

01:19:45 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 5:

And even, like, yeah, like, you can be forthright everything to, like, me. I, like, honestly, I agree with you, Kevin. You're like, I'm just being honest.

01:19:52 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 3:

You should send her some flowers or something to make up for her.

01:19:56 - 01:19:57 | Speaker 5:

She laid it back.

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, send her something there. You can find something. Me too.

01:20:00 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 1:

or something. Trevor, what's up? Like the photos of her. So I live in Florida and my boyfriend wears Hawaiian shirts. He's 27 years old. And I tell him it looks like, like a 70 year old man from Tommy Bahama. And yesterday we were out with friends and everyone's like complimenting his shirt and they all look at me. And I was like, well, you know, I never know whether I'm looking for my boyfriend are looking for my dad that's funny let your boyfriend cook man let him wear his

01:20:36 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 2:

hawaiian shirts do you get them for gifts gift cards to tommy bahama no i just want to take him shopping to like some nice store but like not finding a hawaiian shirt is this proof that not all gay men have uh style yeah he's definitely uh living by that thanks for the call trevor Roberta, what's up, Roberta? Roberta.

01:21:01 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 6:

Hola, I am 100% behind Kevin. I ain't got a lot of kicking, and neither does he. Come on, Roberta.

01:21:07 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 2:

Roberta, have you ever lost a friendship because of it? Because Kev just did.

01:21:12 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 3:

I have, and you weren't my friend to begin with then. Suck it up, buttercup. What was the situation with the friend you lost? What did you tell him?

01:21:21 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 6:

Mine was something kind of, you know, when someone's kind of like, when you guys do those calls when someone's cheating. And, well, I kind of knew, and I just kind of just said it. And I told both friends what was going on, and they both don't like me now.

01:21:33 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Wow, look at her laugh. Her laugh is evil. She's got an evil laugh on that one.

01:21:40 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 6:

It'd be like that sometimes. I heard it.

01:21:43 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. What's up, Samantha? Hi.

01:21:47 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 9:

Good morning.

01:21:48 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:21:49 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 9:

um i am honest to a fault because i have a horrible memory and i am not going to remember what i lied about so i'm just telling the truth it's um it doesn't even matter what it is

01:22:02 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 2:

relationships friendships at work but samantha there's a difference between lying about the person's hair and lying about things that you were lying to them about you know what i mean like the

01:22:14 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 9:

he wasn't lying though no you told her the truth but i'm saying you don't have to worry about a lot

01:22:19 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 2:

Like, you don't want to lie, or you can lie to save somebody's feelings.

01:22:24 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 9:

Why? No. Uh-uh. See, that's a control freak. It's going to hurt you in the long run.

01:22:28 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:22:29 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 9:

Not if they're asking what you think.

01:22:31 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 3:

She was very specific.

01:22:32 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 2:

The woman is not even in our country right now. She's going to have to fly back thinking that this guy thinks her hair is horrible.

01:22:37 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 3:

She'd be all right.

01:22:38 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 2:

Is it Nevaeh?

01:22:40 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Nevaeh.

01:22:41 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Nevaeh?

01:22:43 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:22:44 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Nice to talk to you. Nevaeh?

01:22:49 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 8:

are you gonna speak go ahead what's going on oh well i don't what did you call what's your call about what did you want to say yeah so i said that my husband loves to say i'll go out and i'll ask him hey do you like this top with these pants etc and he goes do you want the husband answer

01:23:09 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 2:

the honest answer and of course i like and do every time do you ever you ever ask for the the husband answer?

01:23:17 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 7:

No, I always ask for the honest answer and his response every time is I honestly don't care.

01:23:22 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And I'll be honest with you, as a guy, we don't care, right? Kev didn't care about this woman's hair. It wasn't like it was going to change her life.

01:23:31 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 3:

I did. I wanted to look her best. I didn't think the shortcut did that for her.

01:23:35 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 2:

Ashley says it's not about what you said to her, but what is it about Ashley?

01:23:40 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 5:

It's the tone. It's the tone. It's the delivery. especially with someone's physical appearance. I'd be like, oh, well, I noticed she gained 10 pounds. You don't say that to someone. They know.

01:23:50 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 2:

Kevin's tone is always kind of a little bit like, he's got a fire in his tone. It depends, though.

01:23:55 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 3:

I agree.

01:23:56 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 5:

It's something you work on.

01:23:57 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 3:

I like what the last caller said about her husband. Do you want the true answer, or do you want me to make you feel good? I kind of like that. Well, then I already know the answer. You don't like that. Exactly.

01:24:10 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:17 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 7:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:24:19 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 4:

Live. Mojo.

01:24:27 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 8:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

01:24:31 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 3:

Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

01:24:35 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 4:

This is it.

01:24:36 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 2:

All right, are you ready?

01:24:37 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:40 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo hat. Here we go. let's go it's show time coming up on the mojo in the morning show which by the way you gotta listen to the podcast of the war of the roses from an hour ago because holy crap everybody heard something in there that we didn't hear

01:25:00 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 3:

And now people are commenting on it on social media. There was something that kind of gave away the cheating in what was said. Podcast is up right now. What did we label that podcast as, Zach? Is Kelsey's Girlfriend Cheating is the title of the War of the Roses podcast. But there was something definite in there that you'll have to hear and we'll revisit coming up this morning. Coming up here at this hour on the show, fresh and new for you. uh shannon says that she was blind what's going on right now um i want to call out the flower picker the guy that is picking flowers from my wife's flower gardens uh and lydia says that iheart wants us to have show bios so they're letting ai do it wait till you hear what ai wrote for us that's all coming up plus war of the roses on the mojo in the morning show So good to have you guys here with us. It's Mojo in the morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. Call, speak, hello, tell us what your thoughts are. So Shannon says that one of her friends, she thinks, is no longer a friend anymore because what did they do?

01:26:16 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 1:

I think I got blocked on text. Not on social media, but on text. So this is somebody who went normally when I text her, it's blue because she has an iPhone. And I had I just got done reading this incredible book. It's called The Nightingale, by the way, if you haven't read it. Oh, my God, read it. And I was texting her about this book because I knew that it would it would be right up her alley. And as I'm sending the text, they're green all of a sudden. And I'm like, that's so weird. I'm like, maybe like she has her phone on due to disturb or her phone's off or whatever. Cause I know that that can sometimes happen. So then the next day I still hadn't gotten a response. And so I texted her back. Actually, no, I'm going to read my text. I texted her back and said, why are my texts to you green? A couple of hours go by, still nothing. Then I wrote, ahem, still nothing, no response, texts are still green. So the next day, cause you know, I'm not giving up. I want to know why the heck I think I got blocked. So the next morning I wrote hello and then her name and nothing. Just green unanswered texts.

01:27:31 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 3:

And how did things get left with this friend?

01:27:35 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean? That's it.

01:27:35 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 3:

Did you have like an issue with them or what happened?

01:27:37 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, no. Not, no, not that I can think of. That's why I am like, what the heck did I do?

01:27:45 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 3:

For those who don't know the difference between blue and green, because if you're an Android, I don't know what Androids look like.

01:27:50 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 1:

Android to Android, I think, yeah.

01:27:52 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 3:

iPhones, the blue is the iMessage. And if the person's either turned you off or if they're not on iMessage, maybe their service has them on something else, it will show up green. But they're not answering. The big news is they're not answering your text messages, so they're not responding to you, which is the reason why you're thinking that you got blocked.

01:28:16 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 2:

And you didn't call them. You just straight text. Okay.

01:28:21 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 3:

So did you try to call them and see if it goes right to, because if you try to call them and it goes right to voicemail, then the phone's probably off or they have do not disturb on.

01:28:28 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Cause I've been blocked. I've been blocked before. And how I've kind of thought I was blocked is it didn't turn green. Yeah. It was iPhone to iPhone and it just didn't say delivered. You know, like some, like when you'll send a text message, it'll either say delivered or if they have their read receipts on, it'll say that. It just didn't say anything under the book.

01:28:46 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I have people that I know I'm not blocked because they respond all the time and none of my stuff ever says anything under it.

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 3:

It's just a straight go.

01:28:54 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 1:

It just straight goes.

01:28:55 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 3:

So real quick, here's a topic that I want to do because there's obviously maybe some kind of either a technical thing or whatever. I want the topic of why did they block you? I want to know why you got blocked. You found out that you got blocked. I want to know why they blocked you, what petty bull spit reason did they block you or maybe it was a good reason maybe there's actually something to it maybe you are a blockable human being maybe you did something shannon maybe maybe this is a person that uh that for their mental health they need to get away from things that's real they need to uh to not have to deal with it what's up katie how you doing

01:29:35 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 1:

sorry hey shannon your friend got an android we turn we android people turn the group chat green okay well that's i understand that but still no response new cell service and it's now been

01:29:46 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 2:

the no response thing is weird and i can't i know you just said you wanted to talk about uh why people got blocked i've never been blocked in two nights

01:29:55 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

come on hey question for you if you if you go android to android

01:29:59 - 01:30:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 2:

is there a special color to your text messages?

01:30:03 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 5:

Nah, it all just looks normal.

01:30:05 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 2:

Why does Android not figure that out? Like, why do they not steal stuff like that from iPhone?

01:30:11 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 5:

Babe, I hate to tell you, but iPhone's the problem.

01:30:14 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 2:

You don't like iPhones? So you really don't like iPhones?

01:30:17 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't because, like, they make everything so much harder to, like, you can't do whatever you want. You're limited with iPhones. What kind of computer do you use?

01:30:28 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

Because my problem is I use a Mac, and I don't use a PC. And when I use a PC, I find that to be completely archaic. Macs just seem so much easier.

01:30:41 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 5:

I think that just like politics, we've been pitted against each other with Android. That is true. For sure.

01:30:47 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 2:

That is true. You're absolutely right. And it is funny because just like politics, people get so irrationally pissed off about it.

01:30:54 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 5:

Really defensive.

01:30:55 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's so stupid.

01:30:56 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 5:

Somebody once told me, when are you going to get a grown-up phone and get an iPhone?

01:30:59 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 2:

Actually, I think the – I've had the opposite where I've said to friends that have Androids like you, what are you, 80 years old? Because it always seems like the grown-up phone is the Android. Text her here – thank you for the call, Katie. Text her here says you should try from Wes's phone maybe to see if it's the same thing. That's actually a good piece of advice. Marissa, what's up? Why did you get blocked?

01:31:22 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 4:

Hi. How are you guys this morning? Good morning.

01:31:24 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's happening?

01:31:26 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 4:

um i was blocked by my best friend we were friends for years and i had let her some money and i tried to get it back from her and she got defensive and decided to block me

01:31:38 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 3:

you never saw that money did you no i saw about half of it and then i tried to get the rest of

01:31:45 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 4:

it back and it was excuses and excuses and it was all my fault by the way don't ever lend money to

01:31:52 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 2:

anybody unless you

01:31:54 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 1:

just know it's a donation

01:31:56 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 2:

because here's the thing either one or two things are going to happen the least thing is going to be that they're going to pay you back and you're going to say I got a good friend it's either that they're going to take a ton of time to pay you which is going to piss you off there's going to be stress in your friendship and then they either will or will not pay you or they're not going to pay you and you're going to lose a friend out of the deal so if a friend asks them for all money you just say no you say listen I don't have it because you'll lose a friend unlike and I when I give money to people and I give money to people like when somebody needs it like family and things I say to them here's the deal I am giving you this I will see what happens if you pay me back but I'm going to let you know that in my head I know I'm not going to get this money back I actually had one person my niece who said well here's what I'm going to do for you she took her she had an old she had a checkbook this was actually not that long ago it was a couple years ago she's a nurse she wrote me the payment every single month for 12 months on paying me back and it was a good it was a good amount of money and then she and it had the date pre-o written on and she says and if it doesn't cash and it bounces then obviously you know i screwed up and she was good every single month so well help me pay for just our tuition on the other hand what what's up valerie hi valerie right in there kev hey how are you guys doing this morning we're doing good kev wants you to help pay for josiah's tuition

01:33:22 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 3:

right well i will say your comment on that paying back that's what my aunt always does and that's the best you say this is i'm going to consider this a gift if you pay me back you can borrow money again if you don't that's all you'll ever get for me and that way it's easy all the way

01:33:38 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

around what's what's your aunt's name your aunt's first name because is there like aunt franny or Like, everybody has, like, an aunt.

01:33:46 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Aunt Cassie. Aunt Diane.

01:33:47 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Aunt Diane. That's a Diane move. Okay, what's your comment on Shannon's?

01:33:51 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's my favorite. So, I, my friend, and I'm actually at her house right now. She's watching my kids for me today. I had accidentally blocked her one time. I don't know. My phone was in my pocket or something. And it took us a while to figure it out. So, Shannon should absolutely call her friends or message her on Facebook or something. That's what I just did. I just messaged her on Instagram.

01:34:09 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I've been, air quote, accidentally blocked before. I don't believe that. Really?

01:34:14 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 3:

But I can see I'm not blocked on her social media. It's like a two, three-step process.

01:34:18 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 2:

How do you accidentally block somebody? I don't know. I could see where that could happen. You can hit a button by accident. You got to go to the contact, scroll down, hit it. You know what I mean? If you're in the contact and maybe your button. See, it's too many layers. What's up, Morgan?

01:34:32 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. Hey, good morning. Hey, I have one I'm actually hoping you might be able to help me with because I almost called in for a second date update on this. But I knew a girl for like a period of years. I worked with her, and then after we no longer worked together, I started hitting her up, and we talked for months. And she came out to see me on the road a couple times, and we dated a little bit. And then she up and completely blocked and disappeared out of the blue one day. Nothing happened. But since then, she fades in and out. Like, she'll unblock me for a while. We'll talk for a while. a few weeks, and then she blocks me and goes away again. Oh, that's psychotic behavior.

01:35:04 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

You don't want to have anything to do with her.

01:35:05 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 1:

That is an irrational human being. Yeah. Do y'all have sex? We did before, but not in a long time, obviously. That is a person that's like that is the type of person that you should block because there's a little bit of weird going on there. Initial A, voice disguised. What's up? Why were you blocked?

01:35:28 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Me and my buddy went to a beer pong tournament and we got wasted and went back to his house afterwards and the next morning i woke up and found out i was blocked his mom had told him that we had slept together

01:35:44 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 1:

oh geez are you all gay no me and his mom oh his mom oh and did you guys yeah well you deserve to Oh, man.

01:35:59 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 3:

He didn't get his mama. But his mom didn't have to tell.

01:36:04 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's crazy. I always wondered from these people that slept with their friends' moms.

01:36:11 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 3:

Can you do a topic on that just in itself?

01:36:14 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 1:

How does that happen? Like, how do you guys all of a sudden go from that to that? It's crazy. Allie, last call. What's up?

01:36:22 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 2:

I was blocked by my stepdaughter. Why? Because my husband and I have custody of her two children, and for the younger one, we were court-ordered to show up for a DNA test for the son, and she blocked me over it.

01:36:35 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 1:

Wait, court-ordered to show up for a DNA test? Why? Because they didn't know who the dad was?

01:36:40 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 2:

They were trying to prove it for the court proceedings that we are going through.

01:36:44 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, and you let them?

01:36:45 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 2:

So she was court-ordered for the DNA test, and she blocked me over it.

01:36:47 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 1:

She didn't want you to allow the DNA test to go through?

01:36:52 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, pretty much.

01:36:53 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 1:

Man. That's weird. Do you still have the custody of the kids, or is she back with the kids?

01:36:59 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 2:

We still have custody. We are going to have them for at least six months to a year.

01:37:02 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Well, that's sad. Obviously, if she's blocking you, she's not seeing her kids. She doesn't come over and visit them at all?

01:37:10 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 2:

That's the crazy thing is we do weekly visitation with her, and I have zero communication with her over that.

01:37:15 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 1:

Unless she shows up. If she doesn't show up, you have no way to get a hold of her.

01:37:19 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 2:

Correct.

01:37:20 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 1:

Unreal. That's crazy. Wow. Well, thank you for taking care of those kids.

01:37:25 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no problem. I wouldn't have it any other way.

01:37:28 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's sweet. All right. Nothing unleashes stupidity more than that person in front of you in the drop-off line for school.

01:37:37 - 01:37:39 | Unknown:

Stop the drop-off, moron!

01:37:39 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 1:

Come on, get that kid out of the car faster. Mojo's got a show to do. This is Mojo in the morning. Yeah, over the next three weeks, school's going back. We have cash for your class brought to you by Moran Automotive starting on Monday. Listen at 730 and 830 where you can win $500 in back to school cash and then qualify for, this is crazy, over $5,000. It'll be $2,500 shopping spree that will take your kids on to buy them everything they need from the clues or the clues, the clothes to the, I'm not reading that by the way. I literally said that off the top of my head. The clues. The clues. The clothes. I'm from Danville, Illinois. We have clues.

01:38:24 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 3:

That was the other day you kept saying verniers. Verniers.

01:38:28 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I did grow up on the south side of Chicago, and we did have running water. I just want you to know that. No, the clothes to all the supplies, and then we will have our good friend Brian Moran at Moran Automotive Write you and your family a $2,500 check, a $2,500 check towards your kids' education. So that starts Monday morning right here on the Bojo at the Boarded Show. We're on the air from 6 until 1030, Eastern Standard Daylight Time.

01:38:59 - 01:39:00 | Unknown:

Daylight.

01:39:01 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

Or 15 minutes or 14 minutes away from sold-out Benson Boone tickets.

01:39:05 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 3:

Benson Boone, Shannon! I seriously cannot wait for this show. That's your man's. I just love him. You know who's going with me to this show? Who? Wes. Yeah, we're double dating. I was not expecting that. We're double dating with my sister and my brother-in-law, who also loves Spencer.

01:39:20 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 1:

It's a make good for you having to go to that show with him. Maxwell. Don't play.

01:39:26 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Look, Maxwell going to be at Aretha's sold-out shows Friday and Saturday. Wait, this week? Yeah. He'll be here tomorrow on Saturday. Shut up. Wes is in the car. Wes, Maxwell is back, baby. Well, we got plans Friday night. And Wes, I just made plans Saturday night, so be busy.

01:39:42 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. I know sometimes we talk about DoorDash drivers, so this is not specific just to DoorDash drivers. It could be anybody. But I got done dirty by a DoorDash driver. Chelsea caught our DoorDash driver.

01:40:00 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 2:

picking her flowers uh crazy so i don't know if there are any listeners of ours that have like beautiful flowers in front of their home or back of their home or maybe a garden have you ever had people just help themselves to them like where they come people come over and just randomly like cut your your stuff i almost said a bad word um have you ever had that happen to you so we had a door dash driver that delivered door dash to our house and when he delivered the door dash to our house chelsea said she goes i think that the door dash driver just got out of his car went to her

01:40:37 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 1:

hydrangeas that she has in front of the house your hydrangeas are beautiful they're like trees

01:40:44 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

and they're it's hydrangea blooming season right now because they're they're blooming and um and i I sent the ring camera. I don't know what you guys want to do. I feel bad. I don't want to get this guy, like, in trouble. But the funny thing is about this guy, he's a nice old gentleman. Look at the size of this man's old man shoes. Are they hocus?

01:41:03 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait, he's so old. He's got the hocus.

01:41:06 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 2:

He's the old guy. He's so old. Yeah, he's the old guy in the Scooby-Doo. Sweet man. Who killed, or who is the person that did it? It was the old man. No, these aren't even hocus. These are, like, Reeboks or something. Those are New Balances. Or New Balances. New Balances are the old guys. So he kind of scopes it out. He walks, and then he stops for a second, and he kind of peers at it, goes over towards his car, gets out something to do the cutting with, and then comes back out and cuts.

01:41:37 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 3:

He had a tool on tank. He had a tool in the car.

01:41:41 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 2:

He had his toolbox or scissors or something. I don't know. He was prepared. Maybe he's a florist, maybe by trade. But he took her flowers, which, to be quite honest, there's plenty of them. Like, there's literally so many of them in front of the house.

01:41:57 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 3:

That's not flattering?

01:41:59 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 2:

That they're taking your stuff? Yeah. Well, you tell me. What if I had a zucchini garden and I only had, you know, 20 zucchinis for the year? 20 zucchinis. And somebody takes two of them. How many do I have now? Math problem.

01:42:12 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 3:

I mean, honestly, I'm asking because I'm not a flower guy. I don't plant flowers. But I think it would be a little flatter. Somebody came up and thought it was so beautiful and then picked one. Okay, then here's my question. No.

01:42:25 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 2:

What if somebody came by your house and thought that your son was beautiful and grabbed him and put him in the car?

01:42:30 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 3:

Maybe my son Flower.

01:42:33 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Could you do that?

01:42:34 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 1:

I've had this happen to me. I mean, it was somebody on a walk. It was a woman on the walk. And the crazy thing is, like in years, first off, what this man did was wrong. But he was at least passing by the flowers on his way to drop off your order. In my case, the lady literally crossed my front yard and came into the entrance to my backyard.

01:42:56 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 2:

She went in the backyard.

01:42:57 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 1:

She didn't go into the backyard, but my, and it was the same thing, by the way, it was hydrangeas. They like are right there before you get into my backyard. So she had to walk across my entire front lawn to get, and I watched her do it.

01:43:09 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

That's different.

01:43:10 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 1:

That was so, but so is yours. I mean, the guy literally brought cutters with him, but I don't, I don't get like, I I can remember when my sisters and I were little and we would pick our neighbor's flowers and my mom would get so mad. She's like, you can't do that. Like that's those that's, you know, that's somebody's property.

01:43:28 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 3:

So near my mom's house, there's a guy who has an apple tree growing in his front yard. And sometimes if I'm on a walk with Josiah, we'll jump up and we'll take an apple. We have no like interest in eating it or whatever the case is, but it's an apple tree. I shouldn't do that either.

01:43:44 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I think that is different. An apple tree is different than a flower.

01:43:50 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 3:

You're just talking about somebody taking Josiah.

01:43:52 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 2:

I know. I'm saying, no, the apple tree is different because I don't know necessarily where people have their apple tree and they eat their apples off of it. I think they might just have a tree.

01:44:02 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing with the hydrangeas? But some people might see them. Chelsea likes them.

01:44:05 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

They look good. She's not doing anything with them. According to her, if you cut them wrong, they don't grow back right the next year. But I don't know.

01:44:12 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 3:

So she's not even planting these?

01:44:14 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 2:

No, she planted them a while ago, and then they grow through the year. Here's the interesting part of this whole thing, if any of this part is interesting of this one, is that I've been trying to get her to cut these damn things for the longest time.

01:44:26 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 1:

Why? You're beautiful.

01:44:27 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 2:

They block the house number and everything. I'm like, you can't even see the house. It's crazy.

01:44:33 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, you can see the house. The DoorDash driver made it there. He got it.

01:44:36 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 2:

You wrote it in the memos. Is this similar to the person that goes in your backyard and randomly just takes a dip in your pool or something like that, or no? That's fully next up. What's going on, McKenna? How you doing?

01:44:56 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning. How are you?

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you?

01:45:01 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. So what do you think? Or you had something like this happen, huh?

01:45:05 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So we lived in Florida for a while, and mangoes were a hot commodity. And the amount of delivery drivers or, like, truly just someone driving past your house that saw you had a mango tree, people would keep, like, the picker thing in their car and just stop by if they saw mango tree and just pick it clean. That is wild. We had a mango tree outside our apartment. and a delivery guy just, like, picked it clean one day, and then we had no more mangoes.

01:45:35 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 1:

Wait, they didn't just take one, like Kevin was saying. They took the whole thing?

01:45:38 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 4:

They harvested the thing. Yep, they cleared, he cleared the tree, yeah.

01:45:43 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's crazy.

01:45:46 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

By the way, all I'm thinking of the entire time

01:45:50 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 1:

that you're saying this mango tree thing is that Zac Brown song. Have you ever heard the Zac Brown song? Waiting for the sunlight Yeah, all right. Yeah. Wait, what's that song called? It's called Mango Tree. Coincidentally enough. McKenna, I would chop somebody's hands off if they took all my mangoes off my mango tree.

01:46:13 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

Well, the audacity of some people to, like, reach over a fence or something like that to get the mangoes. There's absolutely no shame during mango season in South Florida.

01:46:23 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. What's up, Devin? How you doing?

01:46:27 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 2:

Good. How are you?

01:46:28 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's happening, Devin? What do you want to say?

01:46:32 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 2:

You know that you're supposed to tip the Uber driver, right?

01:46:35 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 1:

So you're thinking I didn't tip enough? Maybe that's the reason why?

01:46:38 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 2:

I don't think. They probably needed to get the flowers.

01:46:42 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 1:

This poor old guy. If it wasn't an old guy like that, an old bastard like that, I probably would.

01:46:46 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 3:

He was probably bringing him to his wife of 65 years.

01:46:49 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't it be wild if his wife is dead and he remembers her based on the things?

01:46:54 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 2:

Take the whole damn bush. Her middle name was Hydrangea.

01:46:58 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 1:

But you know what's funny about that is my wife is a loving woman, but she'd be like, I still don't want that bastard. What's going on, Jenny? How you doing?

01:47:07 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm doing well. How are you?

01:47:08 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on? Have you ever had a person steal your plants?

01:47:13 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes. So, peonies are my favorite flower. And my husband and I planted one at our house. And, you know, sometimes flowers don't always bloom, like even after the first season you have to wait a little bit yeah we were so excited our first peony bloom it was by our mailbox a beautiful white one my kids and i like we were tracking it every day let's check on the flower it's so beautiful we came home one day and it was gone we have a lot of foot traffic by our house by our mailbox so someone had picked the flower and we were so sad we've been tracking this flower and like my kids were sad so i say leave the flowers they're beautiful for everyone to look at and it might be someone's prized plant that they've been dying to see pop up at their house.

01:47:54 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes, seriously. The peonies. What does the peonies look like?

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they're so pretty.

01:47:59 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they're so beautiful.

01:48:01 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, those are gorgeous.

01:48:02 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those are beautiful.

01:48:04 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 2:

Beautiful.

01:48:04 - 01:48:05 | Unknown:

They're really big, yeah.

01:48:05 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, those are. Oh, I was sad. Don't steal my, it's probably the DoorDash driver. Look for a guy with huge New Balance shoes on. What's going on, Nina?

01:48:16 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hi there.

01:48:17 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:48:17 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 3:

so i go to a big b by my house through the drive-thru just about every morning and i pull up one morning and the barista says you are not going to believe what just happened i'm like enlighten me what we have a regular who comes to the drive-thru every single day um he pulled up and he was kind of like sitting up ahead and they thought that was odd like huh what's he doing and maybe drinking his coffee or whatever. And he goes, so I decide to walk to the window to see what he's doing, and I catch the guy throwing a shovel back into his car, and he's got both their daylily plants in his arms and jumps in the driver's seat and takes off.

01:49:06 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:49:07 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, don't worry. And he says, no, I'm not kidding you. Look ahead. Do you see the dirt in the road? It's like, I'm like, oh my gosh, I do. So I'm leaving and I pull up and stop where they say, you know, he took the plant. Yeah. Oh yeah, there's holes and it was clearly dug up with a shovel, two holes in their landscape.

01:49:32 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 1:

That is wild.

01:49:33 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 3:

That is, so of course, the next several days that I go back to get my coffee, I'm like, so has the gentleman come back? Did you guys say anything? And the dude has not come back.

01:49:44 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 1:

He's not been back at all, huh? That's unreal.

01:49:46 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 3:

He has not been back to that big B since.

01:49:48 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 1:

That is insanity. These guys are just so bold with the shovel in the back of the car. Debbie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi there. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

01:50:00 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 4:

I had two beautiful hydrangea bushes on each side of my house. And my ex, we broke up, and she came and actually dug up one of the bushes because she wanted it so bad. It was like one of those beautiful blue ones. And she took it. I couldn't believe it without me even knowing it.

01:50:18 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Man, you know what? I kind of like that you guys have a little drama going on there between the two of you. Did you go dig it up out of her yard then later?

01:50:26 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 4:

No, I did not. I did not.

01:50:29 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a question. Was your bush better than her bush?

01:50:35 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 4:

01:50:38 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 2:

Listen to this one. Somebody cut down the tree in front of Callie's family's house so they could have a Christmas tree.

01:50:48 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 3:

Shut up.

01:50:49 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Is that right, Callie?

01:50:51 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 3:

Yes, good morning. So there's a tradition in my husband's family's home where every time there's a child born, they plant a tree or a bush or whatever it is. And my husband's tree got cut down. Oh, no. That was planted. Shut up.

01:51:13 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 2:

He cut his life short. But you know what? Think about it. Somebody had a nice Christmas with that beautiful tree.

01:51:20 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 3:

Somebody enjoyed it, and then hopefully they dropped it off at a farm and goat ate it.

01:51:24 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, that is definitely the circle of life.

01:51:27 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 3:

That's so bold.

01:51:29 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 2:

Sold out Benson Boone at Little Caesars Arena. I know I'm a little late with this. I'm like 10 minutes late, but 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller is going to win a pair. 844-665-6548, 95th caller, good luck.

01:51:44 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:51:46 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 2:

We'll get a check on what's going on in the world of craziness here. The Dirty on the 30, what's happening?

01:51:53 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 1:

So you know the name, Brian Koberger, if you've been following the case of what happened to those four University of Idaho students. I mean, this guy is just an absolute creep. Well, he is now basically begging to get moved from the block that he's in at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution. He says the inmates being meanies, they won't stop hurling threats at him. They're throwing all sorts of crude sexual taunts his way. And he said this is happening every single minute. So at this point, he's resorted to writing handwritten notes to prison officials, hoping to get moved out of the J block where he currently is. But prison officials have said, no, you are safe enough. You can stick it out.

01:52:39 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 2:

This is the only justice that will be served to that guy is if something happens to him in prison. And the guy took those innocent four lives. If I'm a family member of them, I'm hoping that this guy is treated like the worst person in the world. Agreed.

01:52:54 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 1:

Brooke Hogan says police have questions about her dad, Hulk Hogan's death. And she says police body cam footage combined with 911 calls from the day that he passed away could show some new details. but those records aren't publicly available. Now, Hulk Hogan died of a heart attack back on July 24th. Remember, she was very upset that no autopsy was done before he was cremated. And she's like, to me, this is fishy how quickly this happened. Now, police say there was no sign of foul play. Brooke isn't really planning to comment more publicly than this, but she does want transparency here. here and she's saying I should be able to see the body cam videos and listen to those 911 calls

01:53:39 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 2:

because it's my family member. People are thinking that this wife of his, that is a Scientologist,

01:53:46 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 1:

had something to do with it. Nick Jonah is confessing a little bit of a quirky bedroom habit. He actually called it himself a beige flag, but he said that he thinks beds are for sleeping only in a new interview. He said he doesn't sit on his bed. He doesn't eat on his bed. He doesn't read books in his bed. He doesn't watch TV. He doesn't do anything in his bed except

01:54:12 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 2:

for sleeping. So there's no, not even, where do they have sex then?

01:54:16 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Everywhere else. He just said he doesn't like his bed to get warm before he gets into it to fall asleep.

01:54:22 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 2:

Do they have like a sex room or something? So maybe he and Priyanka

01:54:24 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 1:

Chopra have another bedroom that they

01:54:26 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 2:

He married to Bianca Chopra. He had a sex. Yeah. You think so? Oh my gosh, she is amazing. That's amazing. By the way, I do like the idea of no food in the bed. I know. I like that idea. That's tough. I ate in my bed last night. I like food everywhere. I like food on the toilet. Y'all know that. I eat

01:54:43 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 1:

wherever I'm comfortable. And lastly, you know it's a slow, dirty day if I'm reporting on America's Got Talent. Love the show. I just don't ordinarily put it in the dirty. But if you are a Vanderpump Rules fan, Tom Sandoval and his band performed on the show last night.

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 4:

They were horrible.

01:55:04 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 9:

Just wait. I feel like we just played this song.

01:55:10 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Listen.

01:55:15 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 7:

No, this is The Weeknd. Oh, my God.

01:55:24 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, Simon Cowell did not mince words. He did not care who Tom Santa Claus was.

01:55:30 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 5:

Um, I don't know. Look, it might just be me from where I sat, but that did not sound good, I'm afraid.

01:55:41 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 4:

No. I love Simon Cowell. Actually, hit the X. Nope. For everything you missed today, check out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:58:34 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 9:

I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, okay, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me, and I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too.

01:59:06 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 8:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning. So Lydia says that the corporate offices called. We got a phone call from the corporate offices.

01:59:23 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 4:

What?

01:59:24 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 7:

Yes, and they said that they were asking us for our bios. Is that right, Lydia?

01:59:30 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we had a pretty janky website prior to the one that we have now. So Bianca and I contacted corporate so we could have a fresh, renovated website. and they decided they were going to use chat gpt for our biographies why didn't they just ask us to write bios like they normally do i think they asked bianca too and she just told them to do i didn't know where the bios were so he's like we'll just use

02:00:00 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 2:

chad gdp bios for now and then chad gdp she always says always says that you say what don't correct it chad gdp right no chad gpt no you said chad dbt well because normally in the past they make us write our own okay well he said until we get the bios i'm just gonna put ai in ones for now as like placeholders and i never changed it so so you got the ai bios for now oh god i mean i changed mine though i changed mine so the wait

02:00:38 - 02:00:59 | Speaker 3:

the these were written by chat gpt yeah gtp they gave them they gave ai the description of you guys okay this is what it all came up with what are we reading our own you can yes can you read ours for me? Can you do it? Because I can't even see this piece of paper. Do you want me to read yours? Do we need ink in our printer?

02:01:00 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes, when Mark left, we no longer have somebody to own the

02:01:04 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 3:

cartridge. Read the bios.

02:01:08 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead. You read them, Lydia. You're going to have me read them? Yeah, you read them. Alright, so we'll start with Mojo here. Mojo is one of the most respected talent in radio with over 25 years on WKQI in Detroit. You can catch Mojo leading his show with daily chats and topics anticipated features and his live out loud style as a married dad of three boys there's always something to discuss his wit and honesty have earned him a loyal social following over his years on the mic mojo also hosts more mojo and we don't podcasts with thousands of daily downloads mojo's induction to the radio hall of fame is a testament to his influence longevity and ability to stay culturally relevant in an ever-changing media landscape.

02:01:53 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:01:54 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that's actually that last part.

02:01:56 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got to be honest with you. I like the, you said live out loud. Yeah, I like that. Is it live out loud or live out loud? We're already reading off chat GP. Well, I got to make some mistakes. I like his wit and his honesty have earned him a loyal social following. These guys, by the way, ChatGPT usually is dead on whenever I've asked it to write something for me. The problem is it's not something that I would ever write. Your daily chats? Yeah. Let's hear Shannon's. I want to hear what Shannon's all about.

02:02:27 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon. This cupcake-loving yogi. You guys, can we stop with the cupcake?

02:02:36 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 2:

I need to change my Instagram name.

02:02:38 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 1:

Is your girl next door who brought her audience along for her wedding and births of her very young children. She's an aspirational and influential media personality who still somehow has an easy and approachable personality. She is delightfully honest about what's happening in her life and doesn't shy away from disagreeing with the guys on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon has a natural gift for connecting with people and clients love what she can do for them socially.

02:03:05 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's very nice. I didn't know you were such a cupcake yogi. What do they do? Do they do cupcake yogi? Kev, let's see what Kev knows here. What's Kev knows?

02:03:17 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 1:

All right. Kevin is known to Detroit Piston and MSU fans as an in-game announcer and hype guy. Kevin's positive energy is infectious, and he believes anything is possible. We all have the same 24 hours, and our greatness is determined by how we use them. He is energy in the morning in his seat in the Mojo in the morning studio in AM Drive, and his personal life, Kevin is a father.

02:03:44 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 3:

That's it. That's all he got in his personal life. It was amazing until that last one. I'm pretty spot on. I kind of like it. Kevin was there. Oh! Yeah, there you go. Kevin is a father.

02:03:57 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean, they describe the rest, but you're a dad.

02:04:00 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't even say how good of a father he is. It just lists him a father, period. He's not the names. Oh, yeah.

02:04:06 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 1:

All right.

02:04:09 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

What about, let's see here, Lydia, what about yours? What are you all about?

02:04:14 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 1:

All right. Lydia Jarjosa is the executive producer for the Mojo in the Morning, the number one rated morning show in Detroit, Toledo and Grand Rapids. Lydia's career with iHeart Media, they forgot the iHeart, they put media, began as a street team member where her passion for the radio industry quickly became evident. Through her hard work and dedication, she advanced to the position of associate producer before assuming her current role as executive producer, playing a key role in the show's success. Bianca, stop laughing. A proud Chaldean, she is the first in her family to earn a college degree graduating with a major in media arts and social media. Outside of her professional accomplishments, she is deeply committed to giving back to our community, serving as the treasurer for Mojo's breaking and entering Christmas wish and volunteering in various local initiatives. Lydia's combination of professional expertise, strong community involvement, and exceptional work ethic make her an invaluable member of Channel 955 and Mojo in the Morning.

02:05:10 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Yours is good. That's actually really good. That's great. Shakespeare wrote it. Yeah, that's actually nice. And yours is way longer than Kev's. I don't know why. Kev, they couldn't find anything else about Kevin? I guess not. Lydia's his father. I got to hear Zach's. Let me hear, what is Zach's like?

02:05:27 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 1:

All right, Zach. Zach Martin established himself as a next-level audio artisan. Is this artisan?

02:05:33 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Artisan.

02:05:34 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:05:34 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 4:

Audio artisan. Artisan.

02:05:36 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Early in his career with a background in music technology, sound engineering, and music communication, he knows how to bring the noise to the party. Producing five separate podcasts plus acting as audio engineer for the Mojo in the Morning show, Zach clearly loves being a part of the conversations. Since Zach is always on fire in the studio, he finds time to chill out at Red Wings games in his downtime. Behind the scenes, he fills every room with laughter and happiness, never shying away from a silly costume or a chance to get the crowds dancing.

02:06:07 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Dude, that's a fire one, too. Do they have pictures next to his bio of him in the hot dog? In the red one? Oh, my God. By the way, Zach, this is actually one of those ones where I think yours is even better. I like that one, yeah. If we asked Zach to come up with it, what would you probably write down for yours? I do audio. i listen for a living i do shrooms and i help kids i bleep the swear words that i'm saying um and last but not least why is bianca's four paragraphs long because i made it oh and forget

02:06:38 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 1:

02:07:37 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't think this sounds like Bianca.

02:07:38 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

You used ChatGPT, too. Yeah, she did, too. I did, but, I mean, it's still me.

02:07:42 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 4:

If she would have done it herself, it would be like, bro. I do live streams, bro. I do live streams, bro.

02:07:50 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm a baddie, and that's all you got to know.

02:07:52 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 4:

No, let me hear it. Kevin, let me hear your impersonation of Bianca.

02:07:56 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. You can chill. You can chill. You can chill. You can chill.

02:08:02 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 4:

So our website is getting the fresh new look, and the company did take away our old ... We used to have a great website. It was a really good website, but the company took it away, and they made everybody the same. And then we noticed that shows like Elvis Duran, Ryan Seacrest, The Fred Show, John Jay and Rich, they all had great websites. And so we basically said, hey, what about us? What about us? What about us? Now anything we say anything is going to be some 80s song that we're going to have to play. So this is really cool. So we're excited for this.

02:08:40 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Are we rolling with these? I need to change mine. I do not. Why don't we do this?

02:08:46 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Chat GPT is great to kind of give you a good little model of something, but I think we've got to go in there and change them. Except for Kevin. Kevin's a great dad.

02:08:53 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, leave it. We'll just leave it there. No, Kevin is a father. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:09:12 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Live live. We're sending you to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Actually, Steve Gabara, Zod Ford is. That's coming up after War of the Roses, which is next. We will send you, with a friend, airfare, hotel accommodations, tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Tate McRae is going to be there, Jelly Roll, Lil Wayne, just to name a few. So get ready to win that and $1,000 spending cash after this.

02:09:40 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:46 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 4:

Kelsey thinks that her girlfriend is cheating on her. And why is that, Kelsey?

02:09:52 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 3:

There was a day that she went out and she didn't come home.

02:09:56 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what? It's nice to know that women do that and not just...

02:10:00 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 3:

guys where'd she say she was though when you asked well she went out with some friends um yeah and then she ended up sleeping over at her uh one of the friend's houses male or female friend female friend okay do you know the friend yeah i know pretty much all of her friends um like i like all of them i don't feel weird about any of them so it's not like

02:10:24 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 1:

you don't trust her being around these people that she thinks, you know, you don't think that there's anything going on with them?

02:10:32 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 3:

No, it's just ever since that night, she started acting differently.

02:10:39 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 4:

Like how?

02:10:41 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, she keeps, like, love bombing me. Like she'll get me flowers every day and candies and, like, little gifts, which it's just weird. She's never really done that before.

02:10:53 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 1:

So you think that the change in what she's been doing might be like a guilt thing? Like she's guilty about something that happened?

02:11:02 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't know.

02:11:05 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 1:

So your reasoning for wanting to call her up to see what she does if she's cheating is that you think maybe she is cheating right now or has cheated?

02:11:16 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:11:17 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to do a War of the Roses and call your girlfriend up to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. I'm going to need you to mute your phone. All right, perfect. Okay, I thought you muted it.

02:11:33 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 2:

If she loved bombing her by sending her flowers and candies and stuff. She's going to send them. Right, is she just going to send them to her right now?

02:11:39 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 1:

That's like a risk. Well, we're hoping that she sends them to Kelsey. So let's see what happens. It's War of the Roses. Just hang on one second, mute, and Shannon's going to do the call.

02:12:05 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Hello? Oh, sorry. Hello? Is this Vanessa? This is Vanessa. Hi, Vanessa. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have like 30 seconds to answer two quick survey questions for me? In exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses? Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Vanessa? No. Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? no but not really do you say no no yeah okay that's actually all I needed from you and as I thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey I'm now authorized to provide you with the arrangement which is um a dozen long-stemmed red roses that's the promotional arrangement and so I just need to get a uh first and a last name of who you want to send these flowers to and then we'll kind of go from there okay um send them to abby's okay did you say abby or addy abby a b b y okay and what is abby's phone number

02:13:24 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 3:

um one second let me look it up okay are you ready yep okay

02:13:37 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 4:

okay and what's her relationship to you uh she's a friend okay and vanessa we do something unique at rosesbloom.com instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, we are going to send Abby a text message alerting her that she has a delivery. And then along with that text is going to be a voice memo from you that I'm going to record with you here in just a second. Does that make sense? Okay. Okay. So I'm going to count you down and you can just say whatever you'd like to say and then just pause when you're done. Here we go. Three, two, one.

02:14:20 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 3:

hi these are for you um love you guys have a great day see you soon

02:14:31 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 4:

okay do you like that one vanessa yeah is that one good we can use that one yeah okay i also have to let you know really quickly that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:14:54 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay. I'm going to jump on just to wrap up the call and then we'll send those. flowers off okay Vanessa just wanted to let you know just one last thing while we're talking about this we are gonna send those flowers off but I wanted to let you know that Kelsey your girlfriend has been listening into this entire conversation, and just heard you send flowers to another woman. Vanessa, your girlfriend Kelsey called us up to see where you were going to send a dozen free roses, and you just sent them to somebody else. Kelsey is that somebody that that you worry about that she sent him to or I mean I know Abby and is it somebody that you think that is more than just a friend or is this just a friendship

02:16:02 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 2:

send not until now is that the person whose house she was staying at

02:16:08 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 5:

yeah

02:16:11 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 1:

Vanessa there's one part that kind of got us a little bit and the part was when we talked to Kelsey originally she said you've been sending her a whole bunch of stuff and we asked if you send flowers and you said nothing you said that you don't you said you don't send anything

02:16:37 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 3:

is she still there

02:16:39 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Kelsey why would she I think she is Kelsey why would she say that

02:16:45 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 5:

I don't know

02:16:49 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 1:

Vanessa why would you say that you don't send stuff

02:16:56 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 4:

because I knew it would make her a pet

02:17:04 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 1:

because you knew what

02:17:08 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 4:

that it would make her upset so I just she's just a friend so I didn't think it would be a big deal I didn't want to get her upset for no reason there's nothing to worry about that's a lot

02:17:21 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if she understood your question no I don't think you understand what I was saying and not that I think it even matters are you saying that are you saying I don't know.

02:17:35 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

Because how would she even hear this voice message that you're sending her to be upset in the first place? She would never hear it because it's not going to her. It's going to Abby who you sent the flowers to.

02:17:49 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 5:

Right.

02:17:51 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 3:

But she did hear it. So, okay. Why did you send the flowers to Abby instead of sending them to your girlfriend?

02:18:02 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 5:

because she's my friend and I don't know why not she's just my friend I wanted to send my friend flowers what's wrong with that

02:18:14 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 1:

so you don't you don't think that this would be something that a girlfriend would be upset knowing that her person is not sending her something not being top of mind

02:18:31 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 5:

she's always on my mind

02:18:34 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 1:

who's always on your mind

02:18:36 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 5:

Kelsey

02:18:39 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 1:

didn't sound like it there Kelsey how you feeling

02:18:46 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 5:

not great

02:18:49 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 1:

yeah do you want to talk to Vanessa more by yourself

02:18:56 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 4:

no

02:18:59 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay Alright then I'm going to I'm going to put Vanessa on With our producer and I'm going to have you Talk to us okay

02:19:09 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah

02:19:11 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Who is on the phone here? Mojo in the morning.

02:20:54 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning war of the roses and kelsey thinking that her girlfriend is cheating she's kind of changed a lot after she didn't come home and we kind of have a weird situation going on here very very weird because when shannon asked the questions and she says have you sent flowers recently the answer that kelsey's girlfriend vanessa gave was no but yet kelsey's reasoning for thinking that there's cheating was the fact that she's been getting a whole bunch of stuff from her girlfriend unless she's buying like going to the store and buying them i don't know i don't know and honestly i don't even know what her response actually meant when she was asked the question about that because i don't think she i don't think she understood she understood well and I don't think she understood that we were told by Kelsey about all the stuff. Shiana is on with us right now. What's up?

02:21:52 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo. I just was noticing when you guys were talking to Vanessa, it was almost like she had to think about it when you asked her about sending flowers and why she did the message to Vanessa. and when you said something about talking about her and you asked her, well, who are you talking about? She took, for me, way too long to say Kelsey. If she had have been thinking about Kelsey, she should have been immediately Kelsey.

02:22:28 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 5:

Well, and also it seemed, and I will say the opposite of that too. I will say this, that when she did say the person who she sent him to, which was, I think, Abby, when she said that name, it seemed like right away she knew she was sending it to Abby because she said Abby and she said her last name right away. Yeah, I mean, definitely Kelsey was not top of mind to be, you know, the first person that Vanessa was thinking about this morning. Andy, what are your thoughts? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:22:55 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 2:

You know, I think she's playing the field, and I think, Cassie, I honestly, I think, did they get a commitment here? Is this kind of like the big picture? Is it like high school where, you know, I'm with you, but all of a sudden I'm dating somebody else? I think without the marriage thing, there's no commitment.

02:23:17 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, you can't say that, though, if you're dating somebody.

02:23:20 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 4:

And you think there's a commitment.

02:23:21 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you think.

02:23:22 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 4:

Which she obviously did.

02:23:24 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 2:

I agree with that, and that's what I'm saying. If there was that commitment, Melissa, or whatever her name is, she's just playing the field. It's like somebody in high school. So, like, you know, I'm with her, but I'm going over here and with you with her.

02:23:39 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Vanessa definitely has her friends, and I think that this is one where we want to know how close she is with those friends. Corinne, do you think that they're cheating? Do you think that Vanessa and this other girl, Abby, are cheating?

02:23:53 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 4:

I do not. I do not. Really? I think that her message, because I think that the message she left for her would have been a lot more raunchy. And it would have been something completely different than have a great day. Love you lot.

02:24:07 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 5:

But I got to tell you, though, her voice tone was interesting. I thought her voice tone was that of somebody that seemed like she cares more than just as a friend. I don't know. I'm going to go back and listen to that.

02:24:18 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I think her voice, though, was shocked. Oh, my God, I'm on the radio, and I'm just busted sending flowers to a girl I spent the week with, and I didn't do anything. She could also be thinking that way, too. I would be caught off guard. Anybody who's going to be laughing on the radio and they didn't know it, it's going to be like WTF is happening right now.

02:24:37 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Right. I'd like to ask this question. I'm going to throw this out there to anybody that's in a same-sex relationship because I've often wondered this. When you're in a same-sex relationship, like, okay, I am in a what is called heterosexual relationship. So I am with my wife. So if I go out with a woman for a lunch, okay?

02:25:00 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 7:

I will probably be looked at differently if my wife is not somebody that is comfortable with that woman. If she doesn't know that that's a person I do business with, or I have a friendship with, if it was just a random woman. Okay. That's, you know, usually the case where if I have it, I'll say, Hey, Chelsea, I'm going to lunch today with, you know, whoever, Lydia, Shannon, Bianca, whatever. And we'll have the conversation and she, she's fully okay with that. Um, in a relationship like this with Kelsey she's spending the night at other women who are also gays home do you worry about that like like if I all of a sudden was just spending uh time at another you know uh woman's house and I'm randomly hey she's my girlfriend we're just hanging out you

02:25:46 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 2:

know what I mean like Wes would never worry if I was spending the night at like my friend Lindsay or Ashley's house because it's yeah you are you until you start continuing to watch the hunting

02:25:58 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 7:

the hunting wives right you are not a lesbian yet you will be a lesbian after last night we started

02:26:03 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

it I might not be allowed to anymore yeah yeah that's absolutely right though that's one of those

02:26:08 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 7:

yeah you know I guess accepted double standards well I'd love to know I'd like to know can we get let's uh open up to the lesbians shout out to the lesbians that are listening this morning and we'd like to hear your thoughts on this one have you have you ever yet have you ever had to worry about that let me grab uh kelsey again i want to talk to kelsey kelsey have you ever worried about abby before the you know the the fact that the vanessa had this friendship no not until

02:26:35 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 4:

like not until recently but i had no idea

02:26:39 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 7:

was there ever a time that you ever thought that uh you were being cheated on or that uh vanessa wasn't being faithful to you no so this is the first time that this has ever come up

02:26:56 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 4:

yeah

02:26:58 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 7:

do you guys spend a lot of time with uh the person that she sent him to would she say abby

02:27:07 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 4:

i mean yeah she's like one of her closest friends like sometimes we hang out all together but

02:27:15 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 1:

they hang out separately too and this is a dumb question yeah um where are is it known that abby

02:27:25 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 7:

is gay yes okay so could it be that she's just sending her the flowers as a friend and then, I mean, people love their friends, or do you think that there's something more going on here?

02:27:41 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I don't know.

02:27:44 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 7:

All right, I want you to hang here for one second, okay?

02:27:48 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:27:50 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 7:

Ray, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning, Ray.

02:27:54 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi, Ray.

02:27:56 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 7:

Hey.

02:27:57 - 02:27:58 | Unknown:

Hi.

02:27:58 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 7:

You caught me off guard. I thought it was going to be a dude. This is Ray. What's up, Ray?

02:28:03 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was just right, yeah. Just to come from experience, I'm currently with my best friend. I've been with her for the last five years. We were best friends since elementary school. And I'm not saying this is the case, but, you know, getting drunk and, you know, girls like to kiss girls. And it leads to other things. And it led to us being in a relationship still to the day. And I left my old girlfriend for her, basically.

02:28:30 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay, so you are gay and you have best friends that are best friends, but you guys also mess around.

02:28:40 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:28:41 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 7:

Okay, all right.

02:28:42 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 5:

Your vagina just tried to bite me.

02:28:45 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 7:

I mean, you know what I mean? So can you say this with all 100% of your being? Can you trust lesbians? I just want to know.

02:28:56 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 5:

you know in most cases you can i want to say like uh it's very a strong connection on a more intense connection i should say okay but um sometimes you know you the fights are way bigger than you know two girls fighting you know okay so i mean yeah thank you ray for the call i

02:29:18 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 7:

appreciate it uh annika is that how i pronounce your name annika annika what's up annika so

02:29:26 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 6:

um i've been with women since i was like 15 and i've come across that absolutely not it is a problem to be friends with females my best friend is a female and anybody i date is like threatened by her or thinks that i'm doing stuff with her and she's like my sister it seems to me like most lesbians feel like if you got of your friends with other women you're automatically sleeping with

02:29:54 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 7:

So you're dating people like the person that you're dating.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 4:

is not usually comfortable with you going over to your best friend's house. So what do you do?

02:30:05 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 5:

I'll be on, they can put me on tracker, man. I'll be on tracker.

02:30:09 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever been romantic at all with your best friend?

02:30:14 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:30:15 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:30:15 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 5:

No, it ain't like that. I got a handful of friends, like even back from high school, I'm still friends with that I've never, I've never, you know, and to answer you, you asked the last person, Mojo is let it be as trustable. They are unless their name is Annika.

02:30:34 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 4:

Come on, Annika. Give yourself more credit. Annika, you're great. I love you.

02:30:39 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm really good. I'm sure you'd probably get a thousand phone calls like, forget her. Forget her.

02:30:46 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Say that song. Got some miles on.

02:30:51 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 4:

I love you. Thank you for the call. I appreciate you so much. Jennifer, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning War.

02:30:57 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 6:

the roses hey i have an interesting perspective i think that she was with abby when shannon made the call and that's why number one she said that she hasn't sent flowers or roses in the last six months oh and number two that's why she sent them to abby right away first thought because when she was leaving the memo um there was a small little part where somebody in the background said love

02:31:26 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 4:

you too hold on find out let's listen back to that and then uh lydia let's ask uh kelsey where vanessa is right now we need to find out more information that's a good catch if that is a good catch uh there jennifer wow detective jennifer that is pretty uh that is pretty darn good um man oh man um look at these texters that are coming in let's get some more lesbians to call Well, 616 says, Mojo, I am a gay woman, and I am not allowed to hang out with other females. I wonder if there's a story there, though.

02:32:04 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 1:

There's got to be some sort of incident or something that sparked that.

02:32:08 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 4:

734 says, Mojo, assigning gender based on a person's voice or name isn't kosher. What is that, Ray, when I called out Ray? I thought Ray, okay, I'm sorry, but most Rays that I know are men.

02:32:20 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 1:

Every time we have a Shannon call, you think it's a girl. And we have some female Shannon. No, we have some male Shannon.

02:32:28 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 4:

I thought you were a guy when I first met you. I don't know. But come on. Let's not go down that path. Go down that path, whoever you are, 734. Come on. And then, oh, another one here. 248 says, I am gay, and my boyfriend would never let me have a sleepover at my guy friend's houses. I mean, come on. I get it. I hate to say this. I hate to say this. You can't stop love, right? You can't stop lust. Lust is tough, you know what I mean? And one thing can lead to another.

02:33:06 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 1:

I think you're just inserting yourself into a situation that could be not a great situation in those cases.

02:33:13 - 02:33:18 | Speaker 4:

Kevin and I never have sleepovers for this reason. That's not the reason.

02:33:18 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, be honest with us, and I know that this is going to be hard for you to admit

02:33:30 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 4:

to as I scroll to find the Kev drops. Kev, the last time you and I had a sleepover, you loved it, didn't you?

02:33:39 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Have you ever slept in his house?

02:33:42 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 4:

You haven't?

02:33:42 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:33:43 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 4:

I actually thought you had.

02:33:44 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 1:

Mike has many times.

02:33:45 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 4:

Mike and I had sleepovers and fell asleep on the couch next to each other holding hands. It was fantastic. That's cool. I want that for y'all. All right. War of the Roses.

02:33:56 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the Dirty on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:34:07 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30.

02:34:12 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 1:

The last Dirty of the day. So Morgan Wallen, not going to submit his album, his brand new album, I'm the Problem, for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards. He's also not going to be submitting any individual song for songs, excuse me, for award categories, including best country solo performance. No, we haven't really gotten a legit explanation from him, but I keep hearing from everybody. He just feels like he's been under recognized by the Grammys in the past. And so he was like, I don't really want any part of it. Now, his collaborators on the album, and there were a lot of them, are going to be able to submit songs that they co-wrote with him. And that album features collabs with Post Malone, Eric Church, Ernest Hardy, and Tate McRae. Multiple number one songs from the album, but not going to be hearing about it. At least not from him at the Grammy Awards. Frank Ocean, Drake, The Weeknd. A whole bunch of artists have done this before where they've just boycotted, criticized. I like it. Not been a part of the Grammys.

02:35:08 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 4:

I like it. The Grammy Awards, to me, are stuffy and old. It's the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Morgan, that you got to be with us. We're the ones playing the music. The Grammys do nothing. It's literally a bunch of old, stodgy people, and they don't even like rap music, and they don't like...

02:35:28 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 3:

They never like rap music.

02:35:29 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 4:

And honestly, they probably like country music, but they don't like the country that you're doing, Morgan.

02:35:34 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Mariah Carey just spoke on this, too, during an interview. They asked her about the Grammys, and she was kind of saying, like, one-word answers. Her word for the Grammys was overrated. Oh. Yeah.

02:35:45 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 1:

The latest with the Menendez brothers. Lyle and Eric Menendez will go before a California parole board panel over the next two days of some very high-stakes hearings to determine whether they're going to continue to sit in prison for the 1989 murders of their parents or go free. Now, Eric's parole hearing is scheduled to begin this morning. Lyle's is going to be tomorrow at the end of both hearings. Members of the board will consider whether the brothers currently pose an unreasonable risk of danger to society if they are released from prison after three decades behind bars.

02:36:21 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be amazing if only one of them got out? Oh, that's insane! Wouldn't that be great? That would be insane. It's like the brother that got chosen for student council and you didn't.

02:36:31 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the FTC, is suing the operators of L.A. Fitness over allegations that they make it ridiculously difficult for people to cancel their gym memberships. The complaint filed yesterday accuses L.A. Fitness and its other clubs, including Club Studio, which I know we have here locally, of charging its customers hundreds of millions of dollars in unwanted recurring fees as a result of these crazy, confusing cancellation policies. I know tens of thousands of customers have complained about this. And the FTC is pointing to two unfair and unlawful cancellation processes that it says the LA Fitness gyms have used for years. This idea that you have to go in person to cancel or you have to do it by mail, both of which options require customers to print out a form on the website and log in and use information that you may not even have and then mailing the form and going to the post office, all that kind of stuff. And so the FTC is saying this is just way too complicated and too demanding. And if you try to do it online good luck because it's so buried on the website it'll take you forever to even find

02:37:48 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 4:

it you know what the worst was uh i used to have the radio service you had to pay for i won't say the name of it but we know uh and uh they do that they they make it so hard for you to try to drop out that it becomes a pain in the ass and then you're talking to a guy on the phone that i think is in India or something. Yeah,

02:38:11 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

he doesn't live in this country.

02:38:12 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

But he's technically like trying to keep you you know, so he's, making it very difficult to the point that you just give up.

02:38:19 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 1:

Who are you talking about? I think this is a lot of companies, by the way, and I think you're going to see very similar, whatever comes out of this be applied to a lot of different cases.

02:38:29 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 4:

I am not serious when I was talking about serious. Oh, okay. Go ahead.

02:38:33 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 1:

02:38:54 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. What is this about the opposite sex bathrooms that you're talking about? Kevin?

02:39:02 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, I feel like our bathrooms are limited.

02:39:07 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:39:07 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 3:

So even though we have opposite-sex bathrooms, if there is a situation to where the guy's bathroom is occupied and you really got to go, you should be able to go use the women's restroom if there's nobody in there. That's how I feel.

02:39:23 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 4:

So how do you know if there's somebody in there or not in there?

02:39:27 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, you got to, you got to like, well, you knock, but you can't really knock. So you got to like crack it open, but it's almost like you lay against the wall and then you try to push it open with your left door so you don't actually look in. Because if you look in, then you're a weirdo. You just got to say like, is somebody in there? And then if you don't hear a word, then you say it again because you got to make sure. Is somebody in here?

02:39:49 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 4:

Did you experience this here at the station?

02:39:50 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this happened like a minute ago.

02:39:52 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 4:

So here's the thing. I think in the building here, like early in the morning, we know who, well, I guess we don't.

02:40:00 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 3:

because we got the traffic department down there i was gonna say most part though we kind of know all the ladies and i think if you can get forward and go hey like when our bathroom didn't have water in it yeah we are it wasn't running but i i see like guys that will go into the women's restrooms and the only time i think it's good is if it's a single stall like a lot of these

02:40:21 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 2:

restaurants i've been going to lately all the time at the restaurant oh they i went to this

02:40:26 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 3:

really fancy steak place in birmingham that just opened up it's uh called big rock i went past there yesterday it was packed all there oh my god it's like lamborghinis and bentley's and all this stuff i pulled up in my chevy tahoe they looked at me like are you the uber dropping it was not one of the cars parked out front yeah that's what you like um so i go in there and they have all one stall bathrooms and which is by the way idiotic because they i think they have more women's than they do men's and i think that is not equal opportunity we all want to be equal right

02:40:55 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 2:

we all want to be one stall i don't i don't understand why you even assign a gender to it anyway like it should who cares if it's a girl or a guy in there there's only one person it's

02:41:03 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 3:

because the bathrooms have more amenities in them well they should all if it's a nice restaurant they should all have the same amenities anyway so the women's though have female uh stuff in there is it going to offend you if you see a tampon no i love them i use them all the time i i but i but And I will tell you this, that I think their bathrooms are nicer than the guys' bathrooms in most places. Like, when you go to the one stalls at the airport, like, if they have one stalls, it's, well, actually, I guess they're not. They're family stalls. Those family ones are way nicer than the regular bathrooms.

02:41:31 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 4:

I always try to go for the, either the handies. Can you go in there if you're by yourself? Yeah, for sure. Why not?

02:41:35 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 3:

Or do you make Josiah sit in there while you're pooping? No, no.

02:41:38 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I do it whether I'm just alone. Oh, really? I don't use it. Spacious. Spiritually, though, I feel like the female's bathroom, when you walk in, it just feels better. I don't, okay, so.

02:41:46 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 2:

I have zero issue at all with you using the women's bathroom if there's nobody in there. Like I said, I do the same thing. The family bathroom is a totally different story. I don't think you should do it if it's just you. Because I've been in a situation before of having like a little one, one in the stroller. I got to change a diaper and someone's in there. And if it's just you that walks out, I'm kind of pissed. Yeah, because you could go use the regular bathroom.

02:42:10 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 4:

If I just have to pee real quick, then I'll just go knock that out. I'm not going to spend, you know, on the toilet, cheeked up, 40 minutes in there. I'm not going to do that.

02:42:18 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What if he goes into the family bathroom with another family, like somebody's family? Are you okay with it, man?

02:42:28 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 2:

A little creepy.

02:42:30 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 3:

No, but if he does that, that's not really creepy. He's just saying, hey, come on in here with me just so I can go to the bathroom room.

02:42:34 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 2:

Those are singles.

02:42:37 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:42:37 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 2:

It's not like a bathroom with a stall. The ones at the airport are just singles.

02:42:41 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 4:

What if you go in there with a young lady for just some fun time?

02:42:45 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 3:

She's family.

02:42:47 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure that happens a lot. She's trying to make her family.

02:42:49 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine? A texter here that says single stall is the way to go. Amen. They are the way to go, single stall bathrooms. But the problem is I do agree with what Shannon says. I don't think you should put any kind of gender on there. Because who cares?

02:43:07 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 1:

It's only you in there.

02:43:08 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I think that you're leaving yourself open to somebody being upset with you. But what's up, Katie? How you doing?

02:43:14 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 1:

Good. I was just going to say, same thing that Shannon said. If it's a single stall, who cares? I can pee in my bathroom at my house just the same as somebody of another gender can pee in my bathroom.

02:43:25 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:43:25 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 1:

Like, it's okay if we pee together. We're going to make it.

02:43:28 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 3:

So single stall is fine. What if Kev goes in, though, to the bathroom that is not single, you know, is like the women's restroom with, like, stalls in it and stuff? I'll be next to Kev.

02:43:38 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 1:

As long as he's not going to miss and splash my foot.

02:43:42 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 3:

That will make some women, though, very concerned. Women feel that safe when they're around a man like Kevin.

02:43:50 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, I guess I never feel safe around a creep, but I don't think Kevin's a creep, bathroom or not.

02:43:56 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 3:

You're safe around me. I don't know. Do you really want a guy that's doing his duties right by you? I looked at the mic when I said it to him. Devon, what's up, Devon?

02:44:06 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? Look, the family bathrooms are okay. Don't do the girl bathrooms unless it's like single star and nobody's around. But family bathrooms are okay. They be very clean. They be having a toilet seat cover. Everything filled, too.

02:44:22 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 2:

I know. Don't go in there if it's just you and there's people waiting. That's a dick move. They don't even care about the main bathroom, though.

02:44:30 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry.

02:44:31 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 3:

The women's bathroom here at the station gets extra love and TLC from...

02:44:36 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 2:

That is not true.

02:44:38 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 3:

From Gina, the cleaning lady.

02:44:41 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 4:

Not true. I've never been in a women's bathroom or a family bathroom that lacked toilet paper, hand towels, soap. All the soap dispensers work perfectly fine. It's always the men's bathroom I'm lacking.

02:44:53 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 3:

They have a seating area in some of those women's bathrooms.

02:44:55 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

That's how I was in my grandma's church. It's crazy.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

But the ones that have seating areas are for.

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

usually nursing moms. That's so y'all can talk. To have somewhere to sit and pump or

02:45:06 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

nurse babies. Girls always need to go to bathrooms with their friends.

02:45:09 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 1:

If you ever go to a mall that has a Nordstrom, shout out to Nordstrom as a company because the women's bathrooms, they do that. They have a whole seating area and I think that's probably the cause for nursing moms, but it was always a

02:45:23 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 4:

lifesaver. As somebody who was a child at one point, I do not want my mom feeding me in a bathroom. What's up, Aisha? How you doing?

02:45:33 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. I just wanted to clear something up. That is a myth. Women's bathrooms are not always the cleanest. Right. At my old job, this one girl, she was upset because she had to work Saturdays, and she literally smeared her feces all over the bathroom. Oh, Lord.

02:45:51 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 4:

She had more than just Saturday issues. Oh, my God.

02:45:55 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 2:

It's raining from the ceilings.

02:45:57 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 4:

That's horrible.

02:45:58 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 2:

She was so mad.

02:46:00 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 4:

You know what? That's like a child. That's like little children. I'm going to wipe my booger on you. I'm going to wipe my duty.

02:46:09 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 5:

It was funny because you saw the managers just quietly escort her out. You're like, what's going on?

02:46:15 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 4:

That's the same. The poop-a-traitor. Kay, what's happening?

02:46:21 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo. So I am non-binary, some presenting, but I use the men's restroom consistently, especially at clubs because I'm a DJ and we've got like two minutes between songs to be able to pee. And I don't care who is in the bathroom. Just let me get in and get out.

02:46:36 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 4:

But I bet you you'd never have a guy upset with you. Guys seem like they would pee next to anybody. But women, if you were non-binary, what would it be called? Male presenting. Male presenting. If I was non-binary male presenting, I would probably get women that would go crazy with me. Am I agreeing?

02:46:56 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. The guys definitely look at me sideways at first, and then I'm just like, look, I'm in here to just pee and go back out.

02:47:02 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 2:

Why do you choose the male, though, if you femme present?

02:47:05 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 6:

Because there's never a line.

02:47:07 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, okay.

02:47:08 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 4:

That makes sense. Can I tell you something? One time we did a trip where we all went away together. We went to Canada, and I will never forget the women who peed in the urinal by backing that ass up to it. And it was so funny. The women, like, they pulled their pants down, and they backed up to the urinal, and they were peeing with their butt facing the urinals that were on the wall. And I played that song, Back That Ass Up, from Juvenile. It actually was honestly one of the funniest moments. That goes down in Mojo in the morning history as one of the best trips we ever had. It was a naughty mom's night out to Danny's show club.

02:47:41 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever done that, Shannon? Uh-uh.

02:47:43 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 4:

Try it. Next time that you're going to the urinal in this, Aaron, see what you think. What are you using?

02:47:48 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 2:

That sounds crazy.

02:47:49 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm just visualizing it. Listener Shannon, hi.

02:47:53 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo.

02:47:54 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:47:56 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 7:

I am not really worried about getting hurt about going in with men, but I don't really want to go in there and hear Kev blowing it up.

02:48:05 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 2:

I try to keep it calm, though.

02:48:08 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter here, by the way. We can hear everything that's happening in everybody's bathroom. I try to keep it quiet. I'm not going to lie.

02:48:15 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 2:

If I'm in public, I try to be a little, you know what I'm saying?

02:48:18 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 4:

Kevin beats it up. It's crazy. He's like, I beat it up. You know, not serious.

02:48:25 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 2:

That's what I don't want. Nah, if I'm at home, it's over.

02:48:29 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. If you're at home, you'll go crazy.

02:48:33 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 2:

I almost farted in yoga yesterday. I had to hold it in.

02:48:35 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 4:

How was that yoga, by the way? Was it fun?

02:48:37 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 2:

It was hot as hell in there, though. Like, I sweated. I could taste the salt in my eyes. It was so hot in there.

02:48:44 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:48:44 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 2:

But it was very freeing.

02:48:46 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

02:48:49 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Live.

02:49:04 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Shannon is going to get a fight on this one from Lydia especially, but probably from me too. But she said that Smith did something so gross. Her son Smith.

02:49:15 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there are some things you can eat cold. like leftovers and some things you can't and when he when i saw him gnawing on some leftover cold straight out of the fridge barbecue chicken wings i wanted to throw up i feel like that's not something that you can just take out and eat cold really yeah absolutely can oh my gosh that's when they're at their best i don't know why it like really really grossed me out and he just was

02:49:41 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 4:

loving it uh i actually i think you can't heat up chicken like i feel like if you put chicken in a microwave it makes chicken uh tough i feel like it depends on what type of chicken you have like

02:49:55 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

if it's a dry rub type of thing it was not dry rub it was yours well on barbecue but if it is a dry

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 3:

rub type of thing, you can throw that in the microwave and it should be good. Really?

02:50:03 - 02:50:12 | Speaker 2:

Or the air fryer to get it back crispier. Now, air fryer is probably the heating up way, but do you really want to do that, Shanna? What do you mean? Do you want to pull out your

02:50:12 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 5:

air fryer and have to heat it up for him? Well, my air fryer is on the counter all the time, so I don't care.

02:50:16 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 2:

Would you let him use it by himself?

02:50:18 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, he doesn't know how.

02:50:19 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I'm with you, though. Kids eat stuff cold. Like, they don't heat up anything. No. Period. Pizza, wings, Like pizza, cold is good, fine.

02:50:31 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 2:

All right, what things can you not eat cold? Like you have to heat it up, and what things can you not reheat?

02:50:39 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people, like Shannon just said, they like pizza cold. I'll wait the 30 seconds and throw it in the air fryer real quick.

02:50:45 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay, here's one for you that I always struggle with. If I have leftover Taco Bell for whatever reason, I get it the night before and I don't eat it all or whatever, I can never, I don't like to eat it cold, but you can't really warm it up because then the lettuce gets warm and mushy and it's gross. It's almost like you can't even do leftover Taco Bell.

02:51:04 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 3:

That's a tough one.

02:51:04 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 2:

I had leftover Taco Bell and I'm going to tell you something. The meat looks like it's sawdust.

02:51:11 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it does. It does. It takes on a weird color.

02:51:14 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's like, honestly, it's kind of gross. That's what I'm telling you.

02:51:18 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 5:

I think Taco Bell might be one that you just got to get rid of it.

02:51:20 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 2:

The only thing at Taco Bell is bean burritos. Like a plain bean burrito.

02:51:24 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:51:24 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm heating everything. And you're good. What's going on? How you doing, Amanda?

02:51:29 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo.

02:51:30 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up?

02:51:32 - 02:51:37 | Speaker 4:

I am with Shannon. You cannot eat them cold. Wings cold. It's disgusting. Farf.

02:51:38 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:51:39 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 4:

Literally makes me want to puke.

02:51:41 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 2:

See, I disagree with you. I think that you're crazy. I think that...

02:51:44 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:51:45 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

I think you must have, like, a sensitive palate. I don't have as sensitive of a palate as that. I can eat any... Look at me. I mean, that right there. Can you imagine?

02:51:57 - 02:51:59 | Speaker 4:

Pizza is the only thing you can eat cold.

02:51:59 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 2:

I think it's interesting the stuff that people will bring home from wherever they're eating. You cannot re-bring home French fries. Like French fries. I agree with you. They're done. Air fryer. But you got to eat them quick, though. So we went out to eat with friends the other day, and I got to be so specific on this one. This son of a bitch was wrapping up everything that was on the table. Everything on the table, including crackers.

02:52:28 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's my dad.

02:52:29 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 2:

Like, it was like the crackers.

02:52:30 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 5:

There is nothing that stays. You want the full meal.

02:52:33 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 2:

Full experience.

02:52:35 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 5:

The sauces, the everything.

02:52:37 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 2:

The server's like, would you like to wrap any of this up? He's like, yes. And I'm like, what are you going to wrap up? There's like crumbs on stuff. What's going on, David? Hi.

02:52:46 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 1:

How you doing, Mojo? I'm doing time. Hey, hey, hey, hey.

02:52:49 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Welcome, buddy.

02:52:55 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 1:

How you doing?

02:52:56 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 2:

You know what, David? Not that you care, but I am spectacular today.

02:53:02 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 1:

That's good. Me too. Me too. Just working here.

02:53:05 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 2:

You know why I'm happy?

02:53:07 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 1:

Why is that?

02:53:08 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 2:

Stanley's coming back tomorrow morning.

02:53:12 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Stanley's coming back tomorrow morning. He has no clue.

02:53:16 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 2:

Listen to the podcast and you'll know. I have no clue. You'll find out who Stanley is. All right, go ahead.

02:53:24 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I was calling for, I went to the bathroom in the mall, and I used the family bathroom, and I come out of the bathroom, and there's security, and a couple ladies standing right there, and I got kicked out of the mall for using a family bathroom. So I just had to say that.

02:53:49 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you're calling about the last topic then. I was wondering what you were calling about. You're calling about the last topic of the bathrooms and which one can you use. We're on to reheating and what can you reheat and what can you not.

02:54:04 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 1:

Didn't you say pizza?

02:54:05 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm sorry. No, it's okay.

02:54:07 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, my favorite. I'm sorry. But yeah, pizza is the best thing to warm up. But I thought you guys were still on the bathroom topic.

02:54:14 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 2:

How are you doing, David? You doing okay today? He on the app.

02:54:18 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 1:

yeah i am i am sorry first time so no that's okay david you call more often listen i'm going

02:54:25 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

to tell you something for two topics i'm i'm going to tell you you call anytime you want to but this is prime example of why you need to not reheat your chicken wings listen to this man did you get some kind of a botulism out of that whole deal a brain worm we got a brain worm there what is that oh man i hope not all right well listen you call us no don't call us more often thank you though for the buddy i would see you what's up masi what's up hey good morning good

02:54:59 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

morning

02:55:00 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

02:55:00 - 02:55:03 | Speaker 3:

Are you referring to? Bossy on the phone.

02:55:03 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 1:

Bossy with an M.

02:55:05 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 3:

Yep. It is great talking with you guys. And Moja, I wanted to comment regarding Taco Bell leftover. So I was Taco Bell manager for like a few years. Oh, okay. And everything has a shelf life. Okay. Meat has to be discarded after four hours. Four hours? Eight hours or something.

02:55:25 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

02:55:25 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 3:

So do not leave ever.

02:55:28 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 2:

actually that makes me feel better about the freshness of taco bell food but i had no idea

02:55:34 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 1:

wow so there's a there's a little bit of a shelf life to it okay here's your brain yeah also the

02:55:39 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 3:

best time to get things fresh when taco bell is like busy yeah the line is keep moving that's the

02:55:45 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 1:

best time to get your stuff fresh okay so when that when the line is like what is it daytime or night time? Which time is the busiest time at Taco Bell?

02:55:56 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 3:

Lunch and dinner.

02:55:57 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that makes sense to me.

02:56:00 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you will get everything basically like fresh and nothing is left over and please avoid it in the early morning.

02:56:08 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 1:

So don't do the breakfast.

02:56:11 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 2:

I like him.

02:56:12 - 02:56:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is good to know.

02:56:14 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 2:

He's like, don't do the breakfast.

02:56:16 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, stay on, bro. What's the worst thing to get there? Yeah, come on, come on, come on. No, come on. What's something you should never order?

02:56:26 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Am I going to get in trouble? No, no, you're good. It's just us. You're amongst friends. No, no, no, we can't do this.

02:56:32 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 1:

We can't.

02:56:32 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 3:

Allegedly.

02:56:33 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 1:

I love Taco Bell. I don't want to ruin it for me.

02:56:36 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, it was hard. Oh, my gosh. Anything left over. I'm sorry. Everything is good, but if it's left over, if it's past the shelf life, don't.

02:56:45 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 1:

Eat it first. Eat it right away. Yes, thank you. Appreciate it. Marco actually brings up something interesting. You have a friend that, what did they reheat?

02:56:54 - 02:57:00 | Speaker 4:

No, he used to bring McDonald's french fries to lunch and reheat them. Everyone would harp on it.

02:57:00 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 2:

That's so gross. That was so nasty.

02:57:02 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 1:

You can't do that.

02:57:04 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 4:

You'd be all wet. See?

02:57:06 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a question? Who doesn't eat them the first time? I know. How do you leave any leftover fries? Like, how many fries are you ordering that you can't eat them all?

02:57:15 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 2:

Don't you, don't you, after you eat what's in the pou, the fry pouch, don't you go back to the bag and just hope there's two or three left in the bottom?

02:57:21 - 02:57:25 | Speaker 4:

That's like, he would, he would be putting them in his back pocket, taking them to English class.

02:57:27 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. All right. All right. Enough already. Now I'm hungry. We'll be right back.

02:57:34 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 4:

Back to school is rough. That's nothing compared to the 10,000 days of work you'll have to look forward to.

02:57:39 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:57:42 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's top trending stories.

02:57:45 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, Top Trending Stories. Are we ready to go out and enjoy this weather? It's supposed to be nice weather today, right?

02:57:50 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 2:

It's supposed to be the most beautiful day. Really?

02:57:53 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Yay!

02:57:54 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 2:

It's sunny and 78.

02:57:55 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm actually going to golf for the first time since my shoulder injury. Bro, how do you feel? I feel good. It's not a full round where I get to golf golf. I can only do limited stuff, but it's like the first. I golfed with Chelsea a bunch, but I'm going to do like 18 holes with a buddy.

02:58:08 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, be careful. We're happy for you.

02:58:10 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. First Trending News Story of the day. Delta and United Airlines are getting sued for selling windowless window seats.

02:58:21 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 4:

Y'all favorites.

02:58:22 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 1:

Ready for this one? On Tuesday, a passenger group filed a claim saying that they paid extra money for a window seat only to find themselves placed in seats with a blank wall. The proposed clash-action lawsuit says that certain planes like the Boeing 737, Boeing 757, and the Airbus A321 planes contain certain seats that are by a window but are not a window.

02:58:50 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 2:

When have you ever paid extra for a window seat?

02:58:52 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 1:

That doesn't cost extra. When you fill out and you pick your area?

02:58:57 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I literally just did this yesterday. I booked a Delta flight.

02:59:00 - 02:59:01 | Speaker 1:

And they didn't have that?

02:59:01 - 02:59:01 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:59:02 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. But I guess they say that some of these people are like this. The people are claiming that they choose those seats specifically because they're claustrophobic. Well, if you're claustrophobic, by the way, you do not want to be in 36D.

02:59:13 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 2:

You want to be in an aisle seat. You don't want to be in a window seat. Then you're stuck in there. Or an airplane.

02:59:18 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 1:

Or an entire airplane. So, yeah, so they're claiming that this is happening. And I think that this is, you know, potentially a way for Kevin just to say, Spirit Airlines is the best.

02:59:29 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 2:

By the way, by the way, a little update on my fiasco with American Airlines. I talked to a very nice customer service representative on the phone yesterday named Ulysses and actually got some money from American Airlines. A lot of money or a little money? So, enough money that I will stop emailing them.

02:59:47 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 1:

They paid her off to shut her up.

02:59:49 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 2:

So, this is do not give up. If you know you deserve compensation and there was a situation, don't give up because they will come around.

02:59:57 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 4:

It was a $50 bill. That was my kid. It's got to be more than that.

03:00:00 - 03:00:03 | Speaker 3:

It was more than that. That's because Ulysses Grant is on it.

03:00:03 - 03:00:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

03:00:03 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying?

03:00:04 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Meaningful jokes. Speaking of the airport, did you see the viral that went yesterday of the rats at the airport? Or as Charlie would say, Charlie Langton would say, rats, rats. So there was, I don't know if it was Metro Detroit News or somebody that came out with the video of rats right there in the waiting area where you wait to get on your plane.

03:00:26 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 1:

In the A terminal.

03:00:27 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 4:

And people were saying they saw not one, but two of them. Here's Charlie from Fox 2.

03:00:32 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 5:

I tell you what, we're here at the airport, and, yes, there is a video. It's going viral because it allegedly shows rats in the airport. Yes. We reached out to the airport. We got a statement from them. They said the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are working with our contractor to address the issue. now we wanted to ask some travelers what they thought about having rats in the

03:01:03 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 6:

airport take a look rats what okay no it's disgusting have you seen the rats yeah I did in the airport yes I did and you're working here are you nervous I I mean, yes, I am. I was what are you going to do? I mean, it's not preferable. That's for sure. Watch where you're walking. Is it real? What do you think? What do you think?

03:01:35 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if it gets around the food or something, then maybe we should get like a health inspector or something.

03:01:41 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 6:

But yeah, look at that. Oh, it's a big one. Now I'm going to need an extra glass of wine before I get on my ear.

03:01:47 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 4:

I hate that lady. Yeah, they say, obviously, you know, in their statement that they are talking to their outside company, which basically is their way of saying we're not doing anything. You know there's got to be rats that are running in and out of that place. There's rats all over the place. I saw a rat here in Eastern Market. Big old rat getting out of a Mustang from Zod Ford. You just talked over my joke. Go ahead. No, I'm just kidding. What are you saying? Go ahead. Put some respect on my rat's names. Wait. Oh. Remy's coming out the place. Remy. There you go. Real quick, I just want to throw this out there that they say you shouldn't drink on flights when you're going on a flight. I actually talked to my cardiologist at University of Michigan, Michigan Medical Center and the Frankel Cardiovascular Center says it's true. Drinking before you get on a flight, if you have any kind of heart disease, could actually cause for issues. Because they say that when you're up in the air at, you know, whatever thousands of, tens of thousands of feet, that it actually makes your blood vessels kind of expand and contract.

03:02:47 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 1:

So no pre-Vegas flight drinks?

03:02:50 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm still drinking. Okay. Yeah, I'm still drinking. But you know how they do that? And they will, like, people will have heart attacks on planes. They say a lot of the people that do have them, it stems from them drinking. Oh, wow. Okay, here's a story for you. There's a couple businesses that are under fire for certain things, including, did you see that Cracker Barrel changed its logo? Yeah. So Cracker Barrel, in an effort to rebrand itself, is now being accused of going woke. And there are some conservative people like country star John Rich is going out and criticizing, saying that they become too corporate and boring. What did they do? They changed the logo.

03:03:28 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 1:

They took the guy leaning off of the wooden barrel off of the logo, and then they are redesigning the interior of all of the restaurants.

03:03:38 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 4:

What are they redesigning it to do?

03:03:39 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 1:

It just looks not, I don't know. Not Cracker Barrel. Yeah, it doesn't look like Cracker Barrel.

03:03:44 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 4:

Did anybody ever think that the name Cracker Barrel is racist? They said they call people crackers, can you? I guess it's in the title.

03:03:54 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 3:

It is.

03:03:55 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 4:

I always wondered this Do people actually look at Cracker Barrel As like a place That is like a place where a bunch of crackers go

03:04:04 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 3:

I've only known white people to eat there It's funny though

03:04:07 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 4:

It's funny that you say that Because I've been to one Cracker Barrel In my entire life It's off of 94

03:04:14 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 1:

You never went on road trips

03:04:17 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 4:

We never did We would eat at Bob's Big Boy all the time That was our big thing

03:04:21 - 03:04:31 | Speaker 3:

It was right off of Northwestern Highway after late but a cracker but i went in there and i gotta tell you i don't think i noticed that there

03:04:31 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 4:

was any difference between like i didn't think there was a bunch of i mean when i looked online

03:04:34 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 3:

because i've never been to a cracker barrel i've never been taken to one but online it seemed like it's you know equal opportunity but crackers and all are welcome well it's because of online they

03:04:42 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 4:

have what do they call that uh the the pictures that that you guys like stock photos oh they're Like stock photos. No, no, no. They stock photo the people in there.

03:04:54 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 6:

They ate it.

03:04:54 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

But people are pissed, though, about this. Yeah. There's a lot of people that's pissed. It's crazy. Listen to this story. People are.

03:05:00 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 3:

starting to buy up all the costco signs for their uh hot dog and pop uh combo that they have the dollar 50 combo that they have buying the signs yeah they're buying the signs that say pepsi because we told you guys in trending news like maybe a year ago coca-cola is now replacing pepsi at all of the costco locations okay and people are buying up the signs they're even putting them there's a reddit thread on there that's people are selling the what in the actual hell are you going to do with that well this is an interesting one because there are still people that are pissed that pepsi's getting pulled out of there and i hate to say this pepsi is not the premier pop agree i don't know how people can drink pepsi over coke or coke zero is my favorite i really can't sound a difference really pepsi's sweeter that's what it is oh yeah no i think coke is way sweeter really yeah i don't know either i think pepsi i mean i can taste the difference but i

03:05:55 - 03:05:56 | Speaker 4:

I think Coke is very sweet.

03:05:56 - 03:06:06 | Speaker 3:

Coke Zero tastes incredible. It tastes like that, you know, the Coke out of the bottle, which they call Mexican Coke. Yeah, I love Mexican Coke. I love, love Coke Zero.

03:06:06 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 5:

By the way, if you go to Costco, the thing to get is the, it's like a frozen latte. Oh my God, it's so good. Is it? That's it. It's probably not good for you, but I don't, it's like a, yeah, it's like, it's like a dollar 50. It's so good.

03:06:21 - 03:06:28 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because usually if I go there, everything's got gluten in it. But back in the day when I could gluten myself, I loved the pizza.

03:06:28 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 4:

I've never had it.

03:06:29 - 03:07:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the pizza was, honestly, well, I gluten myself, but usually not on purpose. I try not to on purpose that, though. Why do you got to, like, fall in it? Why do you got to be right? Why do you got to be right? And the last story here, this is the last dirty story of the day. Big news report out here. I want everybody to know this. Somebody on the show got a haircut, and we finally are going to recognize it right now. We're going to recognize it. Zach got a haircut. Zach got a haircut. Where do you get your haircut? Lady Garage and Nova.

03:07:04 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 5:

They do a good job.

03:07:05 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 3:

When do you leave? On your tour of duty. Wait. No, Zach got a haircut. Wait, stop for a second. How is Lady Garage not getting sued by Lady James? How do you not? It's the garage. It's the garage part. It's more than one lady out here, bro. Here we are talking about businesses and all the stuff that they do. You're telling me that the guy that owns Lady Jane's that used to be friends with me doesn't hire a lawyer to sue those bastards for stealing the lady? Listen, it's Jane and Garage. Those are two different things. Yeah, it's Jane's Garage. Okay, how do they do, by the way? You recommend Lady Garage?

03:07:41 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 4:

They're expensive, aren't they?

03:07:43 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dude, I spent like $80 yesterday.

03:07:44 - 03:07:49 | Speaker 5:

Damn! Can I be honest with you? Wait, that is way too much, Zach.

03:07:49 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be honest. That's an $80 haircut. That looks amazing. It was $60, and then I tipped $20. You should go to George at six. George will hook you up. Why don't you have... Seriously, I will bet you that George won't even charge you, too, if we plug him over. Bro, George, are you looking... All right, George, I'll get you up after the show. The other thing, too, is there's hot, hot girls all over Six Salon, too. Yeah, Lady Garage is a little outdated. Is it? Yeah. A little older ladies, there? A little older ladies. Okay. They look like James. A lot of James in there. All right, that does it for today. Have a great one. We'll be back tomorrow morning. Throwback throwdown. Who's going to win? Tomorrow we will find out, and we'll give away a $500 gift card to Imagine Theaters. And make sure you're listening starting next week for a chance to go back to school in style.
