Alright, are you ready?

00:01:00 - 00:01:01 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:01 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 6:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:01:03 - 00:01:08 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go. It's showtime.

00:01:08 - 00:01:12 | Speaker 6:

So tonight is Friday. If you didn't know.

00:01:13 - 00:01:14 | Speaker 4:

Today is also Friday.

00:01:14 - 00:01:16 | Speaker 6:

Today is also Friday, but tonight is Friday.

00:01:16 - 00:01:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:01:17 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 6:

And just so you know that we have fun on Fridays normally, but tonight Chelsea's throwing a party for me. So I'm so excited for the fact that I get to all hang with you guys tonight, as well as our great sales department here, some clients, some random friends. I've got to tell you guys, the most random person later this morning who I invited to this party. And it was not a guest list invite. It was one of those, hey, you should come. And they're like, oh, my God. They were all excited about it.

00:01:45 - 00:01:50 | Speaker 5:

So you didn't feel forced into it. Like, it was one of those, hey, what do you got going on this weekend? Do you tell them and you kind of feel obligated?

00:01:50 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 6:

It was honest. It is so random, and I don't know if anybody's ever done this, but just randomly you meet somebody or somebody I just met and I invited him. So they'll be there tonight. You'll get a chance to meet him. But that's going to be fun. It's going to be a good time. Corey, what's up? Corey, what did you want to say?

00:02:07 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo, I see you starting the day off playing some P. Diddy. Oh, yes.

00:02:12 - 00:02:20 | Speaker 6:

I had it. Well, I guess, you know, Diddy, a little notorious B.I.G. Well, you are having a party later. What is it?

00:02:20 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 5:

Well, I just figured you were getting the baby oil to oil Stanley up later. That's what I figured. You know, I figured you was getting the day started, you know, trying to get hyped for the oil party later. Stanley.

00:02:35 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 6:

Why do you have to be such a hater? Is this one of Kevin's friends? You and Kev.

00:02:39 - 00:02:48 | Speaker 5:

Here y'all go. It is. It is. Yeah. I'm standing behind Kev on this one. My brother, I appreciate it. You see through the fog, you know. I do. I do. I'm telling you.

00:02:48 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 1:

I see through the oil. I'm telling you. Hey, what's up, y'all? This is Diddy. And you're listening to the morning show that I listen to when I'm in Detroit. Mojo in the morning. Wake your asses up. Wake up!

00:02:59 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, hey. Come on. All right, Corey. Get off my phone. Have a great day, Corey. Flag Corey for that one. Are you guys going to be drinking tonight? Will you guys have a cocktail or two? Oh, we have to.

00:03:10 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, we'll have a cocktail, right?

00:03:12 - 00:03:14 | Speaker 5:

We'll have a few in celebration for sure.

00:03:15 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 6:

I will tell you that I think that there's going to be plenty of it, too. Matt, the bartender, is bartending. Chelsea got one of our closest friends, Matt, to do the bartending, which is good, because normally he doesn't do private parties like this.

00:03:27 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 5:

He's got a heavy hand.

00:03:29 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, his pour is pretty heavy. I will say this. The organizations that Matt has bartended for have lost money off of Matt and his pour. What kind of guy? Then, I hope you don't have anything on Saturday, although I did. I planned a tea time for, like, 10 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the day after this party, which probably is not the smartest thing to do.

00:03:53 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 5:

You might have to do a little hair of the dog.

00:03:55 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:03:55 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 5:

Speaking of hair, Josiah has a hair appointment at 845. Oh, my God, out. Do you really?

00:03:59 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You're going to make it, Ashley, I promise. I made sure to have nothing until, like, the early evening tomorrow.

00:04:07 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever thought of just putting them in an Uber and sending them over there? Oh, hell, I can't do that. No, no, no. No? That's not going to happen? I hate it if something happens. Or it will be a no-call, no-show.

00:04:15 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 5:

I'll sleep in the car.

00:04:17 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 6:

He'll sleep in the chair. We'll sleep as long as he gets here tonight. Lydia and Bianca, do you guys have any big plans at all for tonight? Are you guys coming together, or what are you guys planning to do?

00:04:26 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 2:

No, we're not coming together, but I'm going hard tonight. Are you? Oh, yeah, me too.

00:04:32 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 6:

There are a couple of guys that I want to introduce you guys to that I invited. There are some single guys.

00:04:37 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

Well, my dad's going to be there, so I don't know about all that. Oh! Oh, Al's coming? I love him. He's going to shoo those boys away if it's not happening with him.

00:04:46 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 6:

But I've got to be honest with you. Al hears all the shenanigans that you get yourself into.

00:04:50 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that I get screamed at when I get home.

00:04:52 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Do you really? See, it's funny. You never stop, which actually makes me feel good that you don't hold back on us. Yeah. I would tell you that we've had numerous.

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 2:

people on the show they get yelled at when they go home by their dads and stuff that usually it comes turns into a i'm not going to talk about this the next time you know i just tell them i'm

00:05:08 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 5:

like if you don't want to listen just turn it off when i go on your dad your dad's been a part of

00:05:13 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 2:

our lives part of my life way before you were even part of this life before i was even here i know

00:05:18 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 5:

exactly he's a good friend my mom is l's date tonight oh my god stop it cyan is coming my dad can't make it and bianca's mom can't make it so i love it coming out wait what are bianca's mom and lydia's dad doing tonight you might find him on the t-app later tonight that would be insane

00:05:40 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 2:

wait do they hang with each other do they go out ever with each other the four of them no

00:05:46 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 4:

your moms hang out though they go to bingo yes yeah they do they actually would probably be very

00:05:52 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

good friends that would actually be an interesting match between the my dad's like who am i talking

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 5:

to tonight i'm like lydia's mom that's all you say cyan a good time though she is a great time

00:06:03 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 4:

wait is dr warner coming or dr warner is coming oh good dr warner is coming he's gonna be there

00:06:09 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

he's excited about it he's he's actually dr warner's been so busy i don't know how this guy is able to do stuff i get i get texts from him like first thing in the morning get texts from him late at night and he's always working hard delivering babies at all times yeah so it'll be fun uh we're gonna have a good time hold on a second oh ryan kessler just texted me this guy by the way has given me more crap over the fact that i am getting inducted into the radio hall of fame he does not believe that you should get inducted into the radio hall of fame until you are retired like he doesn't think that a person is an active duty person should actually be allowed to do this so he said they can't even give me an effing day off from this hall of fame night He's out having some fun right now.

00:06:54 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 3:

See, the problem is a lot of these people who have been inducted die first. That's the way you don't want to do it. So give them his flowers while you can smell them, while you're still on air.

00:07:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

I like that. And actually, I was talking to one of the guys from the Radio Hall of Fame, and he was telling me that this is actually one of the, I guess last year they didn't have it, and two years prior didn't have it. A current radio person, like somebody that was in radio getting inducted, And this year, Colin Cowherd from The Herd, one of the most popular sports talk shows. Terrible takes sometimes, but he's a good guy. He actually sticks up for LeBron a lot. Now he does. He and I are both getting deducted at the same time. That's dope. That's pretty cool. And actually, it's funny. The guy was telling me, he said, with the amount of listeners that he has nationally and then with the amount of listeners that you guys have nationally, too, because of the amount of people that listen to our podcast, he said it will probably be one of the most notoriety Hall of Fames that they've had since they inducted some of the biggest names like Stern and Ryan Seacrest and Elvis Duran and all those guys. So I thought that was pretty cool. What's going on, Justin? How you doing?

00:08:05 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

Hey, long time, long time. Hey, thank you.

00:08:09 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. I need a drop for the long time, long time. and i don't really have one so everybody say woo woo should i do in that one give it to him the billy ones everybody say woo what's up justin i don't know what's the dress code and what time should i be there you know what you stay on the phone long enough with me you'll probably get invited to this thing it will it will happen i you know what i do i try to judge by semblance of craziness i either want really crazy or i want no crazy at all because i don't want it to be one of those things where chelsea comes back and goes who the hell is that which i think will end up happening it's funny because the list that the sales department gave of uh some of the clients chelsea doesn't know all the clients so chelsea is like gonna like learn and meet and it's you know it's gonna be interesting she's throwing the party and she's like i you know i'm inviting uh Mary from Planet Fitness, she didn't know some of the people that were coming to this thing.

00:09:13 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 4:

It's kind of like a wedding where you don't know any of your parents' friends and their husbands.

00:09:18 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

And that's exactly how it was when I got married.

00:09:20 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

00:09:21 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

You're like walking to tables saying hi to people.

00:09:23 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey. And they have to be explained who they are.

00:09:26 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 2:

I remember one time a guy came up to me at Chelsea and I's wedding and he goes, hi, I'm your Uncle Gary.

00:09:33 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

00:09:33 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Didn't even know.

00:09:35 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Poncho? Hi.

00:09:36 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 1:

good morning and uh i'll be drinking hard in honor of you mojo but i'll be doing it at home

00:09:43 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

because you didn't invite me oh come on i'm sorry about that i couldn't get everybody i we we are we should throw a party for the listeners though that would be kind of fun we don't do it here maybe we'll maybe no so fun to do it here maybe we'll plan in october because it is not being uh

00:10:00 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

done until October the 30th, but maybe we'll do like a Mojo in the morning party and we'll do a Hall of Fame party or something kind of cool like that. I want to be invited to that one, please. Will you drive across the state for us? Yes, I would. All right, Pancho, you're the best, man. I appreciate you, buddy. Have a great weekend. You as well. All right, let's do this. It's Mojo in the Morning's back

00:10:19 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 4:

in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff handle?

00:10:23 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

All right, I'm running late already on a Friday, but we got Lil Wayne tickets to give away. This was the year that Kim Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage from that guy that played in the NBA for probably only 72 days, Chris Humphreys.

00:10:37 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 6:

He felt blindsided. We found out that she was filing for divorce before he did.

00:10:44 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 5:

Bridesmaids was the big movie. Hey, buddy.

00:10:46 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? Such a good movie. I feel so much more relaxed. Thank you, Helen. I just feel like I'm excited. There it is.

00:10:55 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 1:

00:11:42 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 5:

There's been like a pattern of the winners for the Lil Wayne show. It was like a husband winning for his girlfriend or his wife. Yeah. Yeah, no.

00:11:50 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he works evening, so he's never up early enough to call in. Aw, what a good guy.

00:11:55 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 5:

Hard guy, is he sleeping in right now?

00:11:57 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's trying to.

00:11:59 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 5:

00:12:11 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:12:13 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon with the first Dirty of the Morning. What's going on, Shannon?

00:12:17 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, starting off with the Menendez brothers, Eric Menendez denied parole yesterday by a California parole board.

00:12:25 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

This morning, Eric Menendez has been denied parole after making his bid for freedom. Eric appearing for the hearing via video link from a San Diego correctional facility. The hearing lasting more than nine hours, but it wasn't long afterwards that a California parole board denied his request, saying he poses an unreasonable risk to public safety. Commissioners focused heavily on rule violations, spending more than two hours on illegal cell phone usage while in prison.

00:12:53 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 3:

He paid $1,000 for one. He apparently took another from a prison guard or bought one from a prison guard. And that, according to the parole board, showed a certain level of criminality.

00:13:05 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Eric admitting he paid $1,000 for one of those cell phones, saying, I really became addicted to the phones. You're doing life without parole. This is not really harming anyone. The board also noting Eric Menendez's inappropriate behavior with visitors, drug smuggling, misuse of state computers, and violent incidents. One parole board member noting that it is Eric Menendez's behavior in prison that led to the denial, saying, Contrary to your supporters' beliefs, you have not been a model prisoner, and frankly, we find that a little disturbing. Just as he claimed more than three decades ago in his first trial, Eric Menendez says they killed their parents after years of sexual abuse by their father.

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 3:

My dad had been molesting me.

00:13:48 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

They said they feared their father would kill them once they broke the secret of that abuse. And when asked why he killed his mother, Eric described feeling betrayed when he learned she knew about the abuse for years. I saw my mother and my father as one person after I learned that she knew. So when I was running into the den, I was in a state of terror, of panic, of rage. In a statement, his family saying, Our belief in Eric remains unwavering, and we know he will take the board's recommendation in stride.

00:14:17 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

There were some touching moments in that parole hearing. At one point, the brother's Aunt Terry, her voice quivering. You could hear that she was fighting back tears, said that she still loved her brother, but that she had forgiven Eric. It didn't matter, the parole board delivering that crushing blow to Eric Menendez.

00:14:33 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

It was amazing, nine hours of this thing. But yesterday on the show, I said, what would be the chances that they deny one and give the other?

00:14:40 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because Lyle's parole board hearing is scheduled for today. And if it was just bad behavior in prison that is causing Eric to stay there, I don't know anything about Lyle's behavior. So we were joking about it. Actually, Lyle was the guy.

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

I think Lyle was running all the.

00:15:00 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 3:

the ministry that was there yeah it's gonna be interesting man but i will say this california is a crazy place california you right now in current day times can commit a crime and be back on the streets in like a you know a day or less than a day yet these guys how many years ago 36 they hold them and there's you know you know all these things that came out about the parents and all this stuff it's a really an interesting thing that uh that they kind of swayed their ways you know about how they do certain things and keeping people in prison but i don't know i'll be honest with you i think that after watching that uh netflix wasn't it documentary or whatever i had a totally different thing or opinion of them before i thought these guys should be in prison or do that for the rest of their lives now i actually think that they probably should be out i don't know

00:15:51 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. There are some big questions surrounding Hulk Hogan's death. And this morning, TMZ is reporting that Hulk may have died from a surgical mistake and not a heart attack. Wow. A nerve tied to his breathing may have been severed, according to what police were told. And remember, Hulk's daughter, Brooke Hogan, has been calling out all sorts of inconsistencies in the medical examiner's report, like a mention of leukemia, Even though cancer didn't even run in their family, nor did that ever come up during any sort of pre-surgical blood test, which she was usually present for. Clearwater police say the case is still active and nothing official will be released until the family is fully briefed. And Mariah Carey is set to receive the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, also known as the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV VMAs, airing live on September 7th. That honor marks a milestone for her, by the way, because despite being nominated multiple times over the years, over the past decades, she's never actually won an MTV VMA until now. So as part of the celebration, she is going to return to the VMA stage for the first time in 20 years to perform a bunch of her biggest hits.

00:17:06 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 3:

And we are going to see her in September at the IHR Radio Music Festival.

00:17:10 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 4:

Two weeks after this, yeah. Yep. This year's VMA is, by the way, hosted by LL Cool J again.

00:17:14 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 3:

And we'll see him. That's right. I know.

00:17:16 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 4:

We're going to see everybody. For everything you missed today and from the week, you can check out the podcast on that free iHeartRadio app.

00:17:22 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Listen at 910 this morning for a chance to go to the iHeartRadio Music Festival brought to you by Zot Ford in Hollywood.

Exactly, an exhibition. This is just an exhibition just to end a week with. Stanley here. Stanley will be coming back with us on Monday to play against the listeners because he is the legit champion.

00:19:33 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 2:

Is he?

00:19:33 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 3:

But we are going to see how Stanley does this morning against Kevin, who's going to take him on. Good morning. Is Stanley here?

00:19:41 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Is Stanley on? Stanley. Good morning, Stanley. I'm here. Good morning. How you feeling, my man? Doing good. That's good, man. 00:20:10 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

Stanley, I had people DMing me on Instagram yesterday fighting for you, saying they will hurt me because of the way I treat you. So you got a lot of supporters out there, my man.

00:20:19 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, Stan.

00:25:03 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 1:

Why are we not invited?

00:25:04 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 4:

00:25:44 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Want to go to Florida We're going to give you a chance to win our fifth and final qualifier For a trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida The number one beach in the world It was voted that In your chance to win a trip perfect for when the weather changes here, which by the way, Monday is going to be a change in the weather. We may not even get into the high 60s Monday. They're saying... Monday, Tuesday.

00:26:06 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's going to be interesting.

00:26:07 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 1:

It's quarter zip weather. Your favorite. Yes. I were born for it. That's a good day. Today is kind of hoodie weather going on today. It's chilly this morning. Temperature is only 50 right now. It's 57 degrees, I think, right now is the current temperature in Detroit. Only getting up to about 81 today, but sunny. It's going to be nice. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. So, Kev, your son Josiah has his first celebrity crush.

00:26:36 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 2:

He does. I was so surprised. He FaceTimed yesterday, him and his mom. They just got back in town for being in Atlanta, seeing some family. So, haven't seen him in a while. He gets on FaceTime. He's so excited. Like, I'm just excited. So, he's like, Dad. First thing on his mom is, Dad, I have a celebrity crush. And immediately, I'm like, oh, my God. Like, who is this? I started to think of, like, who are my celebrity crushes? I think my first one may have been, like, Carmen Electric or something. I was, you know, I was one of those.

00:27:02 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 1:

You were Carmen Electric, by the way.

00:27:04 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 2:

I used to see her. I was like, ooh.

00:27:05 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 1:

You thought, I know she puts out. It was her. Go right for it.

00:27:08 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Low key. Remember Xena the warrior princess? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. I used to like her, too. I used to be like, you better slay them dragons. So, yeah. So, Josiah says he has a celebrity crush. And I'm like, okay, who is it? And he says, her name's Madison Sky. And immediately, who do you think I did? Google. I Googled. in i'm like madison sky pull up the first thing you see is like an instagram i click let me turn on my brightness so you can see this i click the instagram okay and madison sky pops oh my god look at that and i go what the hell i said josiah i don't know if i'm following the right one

00:27:47 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 3:

i think she might be a little Wait, is that the right one? That's what you were talking about? I didn't tell him. I was like, Josiah, I'm not sure. All it is, by the way, if you can't get to Google right now, is just big booty cheeks. Pictures of big cheeks, naked butt cheeks.

00:28:05 - 00:28:40 | Speaker 2:

She is our OnlyFans special. I said, Josiah, I think she might be out of your league. He's like, well, just check her IMDB. So I searched Madison Scott IMDB, and it's like, Dirty Auditions, Volume 4. Don't tell my husband three. I'm like, Josiah, I don't think I have the right Madison Scott here. Am I spelling her name right? So finally, he sends me a link, and it is a beautiful young lady. She's like nine, ten, whatever his age is, like a ten, twelve years old. What's she from? It's completely different. Like, how is she a celebrity? She's from, like, some Netflix movie, like little kid movie or something. Like, from my mind.

00:28:40 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 1:

So Madison Scott, there's a kid Madison Scott, and then there's the only fans Madison Scott.

00:28:48 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 2:

Not to be confused. His Madison Sky is like Madison Sky Validum. Like, that's her name. Okay. Oh, yes. Okay. I'm talking about Blue my entire mom.

00:28:58 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 1:

So who is the other Madison Sky?

00:29:01 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 2:

That's more so for me.

00:29:02 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this little girl's so cute.

00:29:04 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 1:

That is so funny.

00:29:05 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's more appropriate for Josiah at this point in his life.

00:29:08 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 1:

Although, were you a little bit proud at first? I was shocked. Were you loving it? Because you like the girls with the thick booties.

00:29:15 - 00:29:20 | Speaker 2:

Look, this Madison Skye, the other one, is a very attractive young lady. I see why she's doing well in that space.

00:29:21 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 1:

Now are you following her? I couldn't believe it.

00:29:23 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 2:

But the first nine pictures ain't even her face. I was going to say, how do you even know what she looks like?

00:29:28 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember your first?

00:29:30 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Probably Xena. Probably, um, I used to think Vanna White was kind of cool when she used to hit them letters and watch them spin around. I used to like Vanna White. Yeah.

00:29:38 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 4:

I used to love Patrick Swayze because I loved the movie Dirty Dancing. And Jonathan Taylor Thomas, of course.

00:29:45 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Mine was, and you'll know exactly who she is because of the movie, but mine was his love interest in Karate Kid. It was Elizabeth Shue, who, if you never know who Elizabeth Shue is, her brother is that awesome.

00:30:00 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 3:

Andrew Chu. Yeah. Elizabeth Chu was so hot, and she was so hot. Do you remember the Karate Kid? For sure. Do you remember Daniel Sun and Daniel Sun's girl? And all you wanted was Daniel Sun to beat the crap out of...

00:30:15 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 2:

Was she in... Was Elizabeth Chu in Adventures and Babysitting?

00:30:18 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Was that her?

00:30:19 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

I loved her. I don't know.

00:30:20 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 3:

She was in Hollow Man. She still looks great, too. Yeah. Like, she still actually looks kind of hot. But it's interesting. Like, your first celebrity crush always kind of plays a part, too, because... I feel like Chelsea kind of has a little bit of an Elizabeth Shue type of a look to her. You get your little fantasy, okay? See ya? Now, imagine if your boy goes with Madison Scott. Sign me up, bro. One day he's marrying her. What about Bianca and Lydia? Who were you guys' first celebrity crushes?

00:30:49 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 1:

Mine was Zac Efron. Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mine was James from Big Time Rush, and I would actually tell people that he was my stepbrother. Would you really? Hey, why would you do that if it was your crush? She's got some fantasy. Wow. I was like, I got the connections. He's my stepbrother.

00:31:08 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 3:

Wait, didn't you just hang out with Big Time Rush? Did you ever get a chance to meet him and tell him that he was your celebrity crush?

00:31:14 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 1:

I did. I told him at Jingle Ball like two years ago when they came here, and he was weirded out. Like, he was like, you should not have told me that. Oh, really? You're away from me.

00:31:23 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 3:

What about Zach? Wait, hold on. Zach seems like the type that his first celebrity crush would have been an OnlyFans model.

00:31:29 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 2:

Close. Very close. They didn't have OnlyFans growing up, but the Pam Anderson, Tommy Lee joint. Oh, my God. I got to see Jenna Jameson. Oh, close. He said it went platinum in the house.

00:31:41 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 3:

Did you watch Baywatch at all? Oh, yeah. Oh, I got to tell you, I think I masturbated more to Baywatch than any other porn ever. Them slow-mo scenes? Every girl that was on Baywatch was hot, but Pam Anderson, There was something about Pam Anderson. She's just so fine. And when Pam Anderson was with Kid Rock and she was hanging out in town all the time, it would be like, that was like, all I wanted to do was bump in and see what Pam Anderson was like. And then Chelsea and myself and Chad and Eric from the show, back in the day, Luke Robitaille flew us out to LA for the cup party when the Wings won the Stanley Cup. Luke Robitaille and Stacia Robitaille invited the show to go out to his thing. So the four of us ended up going. and we had hung out with Luke at his house and had a party at his house. Well, Chris Chelios had a party at his house, his Malibu, like, beautiful mansion, and they lived right next door, the Chelioses did, to Pam Anderson and Kidd.

00:32:38 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:32:39 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 3:

And Pam and Kidd were at this party. That's crazy. And Tony Danza was at the party, too.

00:32:43 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 2:

What? That's crazy.

00:32:44 - 00:33:23 | Speaker 3:

That was the wildest thing. But let me just say this to you about Pam Anderson. Pam Anderson, and I know she's right now doing the whole natural thing, which I give her so many props for. She still looks great. Although I do think she could probably put just maybe a, I don't know, I won't say. She could do like a little bit of, I don't know. Just a touch. Maybe a touch. But she was so hot in person. Was she? But she was so tiny. It was wild. It's like if you ever met Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton is so skinny and her boobs are like monstrous. That's what Pam was like. But Zach, we got to get you. This is actually funny. Bianca got to be with Big Time Rush. We got to see if we can get an interview with Pam Anderson for you.

00:33:23 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 2:

Liam Neeson feels like he would kick my ass.

00:33:26 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 3:

So do we know if we can call this girl, if she's a celebrity? The girl, the Madison guy. The younger Madison guy. No, the younger one. I mean, let's do it. You should. Yeah, that would be like the coolest thing ever. If you could put like one of those things together, like where you have Josiah get a chance to meet his celebrity crush.

00:33:44 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 2:

Or interview her or something. They could go to junior prom or something.

00:33:46 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God, that would be incredible. What's going on, Becca? How you doing?

00:33:50 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 4:

So, my first celebrity crush was actually Orlando Bloom, and I feel like I was kind of, like, a little too obsessed with him. Like, I found a t-shirt at Old Navy that said Orlando, and I was convinced it was for Orlando Bloom instead of Orlando, Florida. You couldn't tell me otherwise, and my mom and dad, I mean, this is, like, the early 2000s when you could, like, print pictures onto cakes and stuff. I'm pretty sure for my, like, 12th birthday, I had an Orlando Bloom-themed birthday. That's great.

00:34:25 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I want to ask you a question. I want to ask Shannon a question and the girls a question. You know, the guys always have their celebrity crushes, and the guys obviously, you know, Zach and I at least, Kevin might not admit to us, you know, you kind of spend a little more time in the bathroom. Do girls do that? Like, with Orlando Bloom or Shannon, any of your celebrity crushes, do you guys like think about them in the shower like we think about i used to have i used to have

00:34:51 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

posters because there was like teen b and bb magazine i forget what they were called so i used to have like posters of jonathan taylor

00:35:00 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 1:

Thomas and Ryder Strong and Devin Sawa on the back of my bedroom door and I would make out with the posters.

00:35:06 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

I love it.

00:35:10 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 1:

Actually, Joey Lawrence was another one. Remember, he was on that show Blossom and I got to interview him when I filled in for Kelly Ripa on Regis and Kelly and stupid me in front of however many people were watching that morning said that. Yes, I admitted that. I think he was like, okay. He was a totally good

00:35:29 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 5:

sport about it but i do remember doing that uh alante what's up alante what's up how you doing

00:35:37 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 6:

buddy good good i was called i was saying me and kev got the same one but and i got the pink power

00:35:45 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 5:

how many people you think uh like had celebrity crushes and their celebrity crushes were like animated or they were like from some TV show wearing. If I was into bestiality, Nala. Okay. Oh, you've said this before. And I double down on it. Nala is cold.

00:36:04 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 1:

Aladdin and Prince Eric both hot. Princess Jasmine?

00:36:07 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:36:08 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 1:

Stop playing. And if you go to Disney World, whomever is playing Aladdin is always hot.

00:36:13 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 5:

Always. Hey, Chris, what's going on? Good morning, crew. How are you? Good. What's going on?

00:36:19 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 2:

Nothing. My crush happens to be a man crush, but I had him on the air several years to go with you guys, but Chef Robert Irvine. Oh, you always

00:36:28 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 5:

call us. Yes, Chris. Chris, I think you secretly work for him, and you like to just have his mention on there. Oh, no, I did.

00:36:36 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 2:

I worked on eight episodes of the show installing that. But I feel like you

00:36:40 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 5:

get paid every time you call us up and mention because I always have to go, who the hell

00:36:44 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 2:

is that? Yeah, unfortunately he doesn't have a show anymore, but he's just a big heart, and just what he does. I just absolutely love the guy. Well, thanks, buddy.

00:36:54 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 5:

Thanks for calling, man. I appreciate it. What's up? Dana, 90 Day Dana is on with us right now. What's going on?

00:37:00 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. So for me, I think right after Lassie, I think we see Lassie and Christy McNichols.

00:37:09 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 5:

Who? Christy McNichols. Who's that? She was a huge 80s star.

00:37:13 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 6:

From Family. I think the show was called Family?

00:37:16 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was a while. I don't know. Eight is enough or whatever. Christy McNichols was one of those people in the 80s. was big i don't see let me ask you a quick question uh uh dana because you're on the tv show 90 day fiance which by the way you got a lot of face time this past week um oh my god quick question how many people have you heard have crushes on some of the people on there like

00:37:41 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 6:

does anybody have a crush on gino well there's just way too many old women that have nothing better to do that are totally in love with them yeah and you know what online he's doing a great

00:37:53 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 5:

job romancing them all isn't that funny so does he do you think he ever invites them over to his place to fool around or does is he not that for mojo you know what when we're all done i'd love

00:38:05 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 6:

to we don't with you we need to talk about the whole show we will we will absolutely do that

00:38:11 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 5:

hey by the way uh there are a couple texters here going right now saying that their celebrity crush is shannon oh got a couple of those also there's a couple here that say that their celebrity crush is Zach. Hey! They love Zach. Look at you, Zach. Let's start an OnlyFans. Yeah. Bring some money off of this. I'm telling you. What's up, Tim?

00:38:36 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 4:

My celebrity crush when I was a kid was Al from Step by Step, that TV show. I think her name was like...

00:38:42 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's cute. She's like a tomboy.

00:38:45 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:38:46 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:38:46 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she was my all-time celebrity crush when I was a teenager.

00:38:50 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:38:50 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 5:

How old were you at the time that that was going on?

00:38:53 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 4:

When I watched the show, I might have been like 12, maybe 13.

00:38:56 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 5:

Is that the one with Suzanne Somers, Step by Step? Yes, and Patrick Tuffy. And Patrick Tuffy. Yeah.

00:39:01 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. It's like they get married and they have kids from different relationships.

00:39:05 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like a big blended family.

00:39:06 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 5:

No, because Suzanne Somers, back in the day, when she was like Three's Company and stuff, she was hot. She was adorable. Oh, and then she did the Thighmaster commercials? I'm rocking with Suzanne. I used to watch Thighmaster commercials and get a boner.

00:39:17 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 3:

Just a watcher?

00:39:18 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 5:

and get a boner. It was like the craziest thing ever. Okay, those exercise shows did have you going sometimes. That and ShamWow commercials, guys.

00:39:27 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 6:

When you get the hell out of Dodge, we got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:34 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 2:

Listen at 7.30 to get in on Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:37 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. It's just not fair. Why do us guys not get to experience something that the women get to experience?

00:39:46 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 1:

No, that's not how this conversation went. Wes and I went out to dinner last night and we were talking about how I apologized to him and I said, I feel like you met me at the wrong time in my life because I'm 42 years old and I've. said this on the air before I feel like I have all of the symptoms of the dreaded perimenopause and so I'm like I feel like since you've met me I've been dealing with all of these different symptoms of being like super irritable and then an hour later being really joyful or being just really tired like there's all the things sweating my ass off when I sleep and then two seconds later being freezing cold and he was like wait a second so you're telling me that it there's perimenopause premenopause menopause postmenopause there's this period of a a woman's life middle age where it's like 10 12 years where i have to deal with all this crap and he's like that is not fair what do women have to deal with that would that would be equivalent for oh you mean guys in terms of phases of their lives so that we have that women have to put up with when it comes to their boyfriends

00:40:59 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 2:

or their husbands okay so because it makes you irritable or something like that as a guy well

00:41:04 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 1:

there's just manopause man right manopause yeah but like when is that what does that look like because he's like i have to deal with it for you for for a decade or so how is that fair that i i will have nothing that you will have to put up with which is not true west first off very nice

00:41:22 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 2:

to bring this up to a woman who's going through it because I got to be honest with you, probably not a smart thing to bring up because it's not a great thing, but I will say this. They go through us having to go through our midlife crisis. That's what I said.

00:41:34 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 1:

I go midlife crisis and he's like, well, you're lucky because that happened to me early. That happened to me in my 30s when I went through my midlife crisis and, you know, got divorced, bought a motorcycle, did all the things. Yeah.

00:41:46 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Or college football starts. Football season. That's true. that's so true that's a great one every year you can lock in and expect something i do think though that guys go through the period of life and i think a lot of it is never talked about but it's when it's like the period of their life is usually mid to late 40s 50s and it's when they got low t and i know that i've talked before about testosterone but when guys have low testosterone a lot of it is they go through a little bit of depression they go through like a down time where they feel like they're down they feel like they're they feel like they used to be that you know how women get really mad at guys that they can go on a diet and lose weight and and they look great all the time and so quickly and you go through a period in your late 40s or a lot of it happened to me where i right around 50 where all of a sudden you're just you just don't feel the same anymore like you know what i mean like you just don't feel like you don't feel like you can hit that ball that hard anymore you know what i mean or you can go that hard anymore you know so i think i don't know what it would be called though i don't know if there's any menopause menopause We need something like that, right? He's like, he wanted to start a group. I want a menopause recognition. Not fair. It's funny because of, I look at this and I look at what women go through between women going through the early ages as a girl, young girl, getting their period.

00:43:10 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, puberty.

00:43:11 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 2:

And then they go later in life having children. Then they go through a period where they go through menopause. and then they go through a period where it's they can't have their period and they get upset about not being able to have their period and then they go through the the full-on I'm in menopause or done with menopause and I look at women and I'm going to tell you this right now total respect because I'm a guy that's married has an unbelievable wife and I've got three sisters I feel for you guys I would never want to be a woman it's wild and I don't feel my age like I

00:43:46 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

feel so much younger than I am and so like I'm joking about this now of all the things it truly and if you're in the thick of it you understand this there are periods of the day so so much more frequently lately where I want to jump out of my own body like I don't even like who I am or what

00:44:03 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm feeling it is it's craziness and honestly I will say this as a guy I didn't understand it when chelsea was going through uh the pre-menopause uh periods and now i understand i standed through the menopause guys you just got to like look up what you need to do like honestly don't try to to always try to like help just try to listen and just be there as an ear because i screwed up a lot of that stuff but i will say as a guy you will have so much more respect like i always tell tell everybody there was three times in my life where i looked at my wife like there is no person in this world that could ever do anything like her and it was when she gave birth to my kids yeah the entire time she's gone through menopause i should have been looking at her the same way because of how crappy that uh that that makes you feel dang that's some real advice kevin you ready for for being with a girl that goes from uh menopause yeah i mean i think i let's get you let's get you

00:45:00 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 8:

Let's get you a 45 or 50-year-old woman. Give me somebody that's already had menopause. We get some 70-year-old ladies. Let's go right to it. I want to meet her in a nursing home. Do they have that on Hinge at all, like a category? I'd probably have to put my date range on it further. It's wild because nobody ever talks about this. Nobody talks about it.

00:45:20 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 1:

I think we've always just heard about menopause, and that sounds like such an old lady thing to go through. And a lot of like perimenopause is, I think a newer phrase or newer word. And it is happening to a lot of women in their mid to late thirties. Like it's, I feel like it's something that's happening younger and younger for whatever reason. And, um, it's just, it was so interesting to talk to Wes about it because he's like, I met you when you were like, this was all starting. And I said, it's funny because I don't even feel like I'm me. He's like, so who did I meet?

00:45:52 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 8:

No, it is interesting because I bet you there's a great majority of our listeners that are re-in the dating world, and it's not the same being in the dating world that it was when you were in your 20s or 30s.

00:46:05 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 1:

For sure.

00:46:05 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 8:

And I can tell you, when you're in the dating world, you're trying to make yourself look hot and sexy and all the rest of this stuff, and there's times in your life going through it, you probably don't feel like you're hot and sexy. You're like, I don't want to be hot and sexy. I'm hot. That's what I am. right now you know so i i can see where that would be uh that would be kind of tough uh again i say this anybody that wants to be a woman wants to be changed to be a woman talk to a woman that's gone through menopause you're not going to want to be a woman what's

00:46:38 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 2:

going on jennifer that just back in the 1940s and 50s the husbands could have their wives committed to the psych ward when they were going through menopause because they couldn't deal with their mood swings at home. Is that for real?

00:46:50 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 8:

Wow. That's crazy.

00:46:52 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 2:

That's for real. That is for real. I did a tour of the old psych ward up in Traverse City, and they were telling us that, yeah, husbands could just drop their wives off, and there's nothing the wives could do.

00:47:02 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 8:

Unbelievable. Wait a second. You're telling me that as a woman, you could go up to Traverse City and never have to see your husband ever again? That sounds like a dream to 99.9% of the women listening right now. I'm going to go up there and do a wine tasting and say I'm in a psych ward, for gosh sakes.

00:47:18 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 4:

That's pure Michigan right there, man.

00:47:24 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 8:

Jennifer, can I ask you, how old are you?

00:47:29 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 2:

59.

00:47:29 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 8:

Have you gone through all this?

00:47:32 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, and I hated myself for half a minute.

00:47:35 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Did your spouse understand?

00:47:40 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 2:

You know, he was lucky because I work a lot. I just wasn't home, and then I would be home, and I'd be mean. He goes, why don't you just go work some more? You're so pleasant.

00:47:49 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my gosh. Well, you guys are still together?

00:47:51 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. That's awesome. For 36 years. That makes me so happy to hear.

00:47:55 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 8:

That's incredible. You guys love on each other tonight, okay? What's up, Eric? I didn't mean it that way. Yes, you did. What's up, Eric?

00:48:05 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 7:

In my opinion, the men equivalent that women have to deal with, it's not like a period of a man's life. It's just their entire life. It's like masculine ADHD. god bless my wife for having to deal with me and she's a saint that is actually really funny it's true though yeah the adhd man uh random projects is just start them off

00:48:29 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 8:

great call man what's up steve how you doing hey good morning guys how you doing

00:48:39 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 4:

We're good, buddy. What's up? Hey, you know, we keep talking about menopause, but really, we're talking about Kevin's ready for his midlife crisis with his new Mustang.

00:48:49 - 00:48:50 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:48:51 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 8:

I know, man. I needed a louder car so when I pull up to the grandmas, they can hear the engine a bit better.

00:48:58 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we know you're about to go up to your midlife crisis. We'll start buying some new clothes. We'll get you a young girl. Yeah, you know what? You see the signs.

00:49:07 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 8:

The signs. By the way, I walked out of the station yesterday. I saw that car in front, front parking spot of the station. I'm like, I want one of those. See what I mean? I seriously went right through it.

00:49:17 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 6:

Let me tell you what you will win. If you are the winner today, or of the entire contest, because today would be one of the five people, you will win airfare, round-trip airfare, to go down towards Florida, to Tampa, Florida. You will get hotel stay in Clearwater Beach, Florida, at the Shepherd's Beach Resort. You will enjoy the sunset on the Gulf aboard the Yacht Starship's Sunset Dinner Cruise. You will get to see dolphins up close and personal at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and enjoy dinner and drinks at Salty's Island Bar and Grill, all from Visit Florida. So 844-665-6548. I cannot say it enough. This is better than filling out one of those forms at Gardner White and dropping it into the box and you've got to sit there and deal with like 100 people that possibly are going to be doing it. I've done those at remotes before, right? Back in the day. You've got 100 or so people. You've got one of five people. So you're putting in the box for Gardner White at this one. Okay? Five people. That's it.

00:52:38 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:41 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 7:

All right. What's trending in this hour is Dirty on the 30.

00:52:44 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 8:

So Lil Nas X arrested and hospitalized in Los Angeles after being found walking down the famous Ventura Boulevard in only underwear and cowboy boots.

00:52:56 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 6:

Nah, nah, hey. Don't be late to the party tonight.

00:52:59 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 8:

Where at?

00:53:00 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 6:

You know where it's at. Go ahead, babe. Nah, nah, nah, nah. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Go ahead, babe. Nah, nah, nah, nah. Didn't I tell you to put the phone down?

00:53:11 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 7:

Is he drunk or is he... It's some publicity stuff, bro.

00:53:14 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 6:

Uh-oh.

00:53:14 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 8:

I guarantee you. So a bunch of people saw this. Obviously, they were capturing it on their phones. Called the police to report his erratic behavior. And when they arrived, he assaulted, allegedly, assaulted a police officer, punched him right in the face, leading to a misdemeanor charge of battery against a police officer. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, possibly related to a suspected overdose, before being booked on those charges. Now, I know he has been open about all sorts of personal challenges that he has been facing. In a video back in February, he talked about how the past couple of years have been really difficult. He said he was struggling to regain his confidence and his purpose in the music industry. But this was just, it was all over the place yesterday.

00:54:07 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 5:

Every side. Give my good side Every side Yes Wow

00:54:16 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 7:

Lil Nas X, I like your music Come on, let's try to help him out Is this a Britney situation?

00:54:23 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 8:

You think it's a publicity stunt, but he wouldn't have punched a police officer If it was a publicity stunt, Kev

00:54:27 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 4:

We'll see, I mean that sounds good in theory On face value We'll see if charges actually get pressed If they don't, I think it just truly confirms That there's new music on the way Really? He's one for the shock and awe.

00:54:40 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

00:54:40 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 4:

He has sneakers with blood in them. So, you know. Yeah. It's up his alley for me.

00:54:45 - 00:54:51 | Speaker 8:

Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things and her new husband, Jake Bongiovi, are officially parents.

00:54:51 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 7:

It's so weird when you say that because I'm like, wow.

00:54:53 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 8:

She's a kid. That's how I think of her.

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 7:

Well, no. I'm thinking of Jake Bongiovi. I'm like, hey.

00:55:00 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 5:

Does that guy know that there's an artist named John Bon Jovi? Then it's his kid, right? It is his kid, yeah. That's so wild.

00:55:06 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I still look at Millie Bobby Brown like she was when Stranger Things first debuted. You know, she was just a little girl.

00:55:14 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 5:

And Jake Bon Jovi, I think he's the one that played at Notre Dame, too, isn't he? For real? I don't know. I think he played at college football.

00:55:23 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so they adopted a baby girl. They're keeping the name private for now. But Millie has always said in various interviews that she has longed for a house full of kids. And with Stranger Things ending this fall, the timing couldn't be more perfect. So big congratulations to them.

00:55:38 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 5:

By the way, before you go to the next one, I was talking about Notre Dame. You see that they changed their logo. I did see that. The Fighting Irish now adding a football to the leprechaun in the Fighting Irish.

00:55:48 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 6:

First time in like 70 years, right? They made adjustments.

00:55:51 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Britney Spears in the dirty again today for a very interesting accent she debuted on her social media last night.

00:56:00 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 3:

To me, this man out here in this water. Look at us. Sorry, I'm a nerd. It's okay. We went snorkeling all day yesterday in the water. This is like Turks and Caicos.

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Lil Nas X and Britney Spears collaboration on this dirty.

00:56:18 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 4:

She's just having fun, I hope.

00:56:20 - 00:56:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. What is up with the fact that she always seems to never do a video without doing something like that? Like, she never just goes, hey, guys, it's Britney. But although she does do, when she does her video, she goes, hi, I'm Britney. Like, she does it, like, she's trying to be, like, Marilyn Monroe or something. Yeah. Man.

00:58:37 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the morning. Throwback throwdown coming up here in a little bit. Who's going to win this week? Will it be Shannon, Cab, or Mike? I think, if I'm not mistaken, the last winner was last week was... We did a replay last week because we were off. Yeah, we did. Let me see who won on last week's... Wait, who did I have win? What did you mean by that? What do you mean? Because I scheduled them.

00:59:09 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 4:

I think it was Mike.

00:59:10 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

00:59:11 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thank you.

00:59:12 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 5:

You're talking about Shannon wins. No, Shannon wins. Kev gets mad at the end. That was the one. Oh, God. That was throwaway. And then the week before that, we were live, so that was Kevin, wasn't it? That was the winner? Yeah, I think it was.

00:59:25 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 6:

I like the way it sounds. I think it was, but I like how it sounds.

00:59:28 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 5:

I think it was. We got to have a new winner this week. We got to have somebody win this time. Wow, see, I don't like when you do this, man. What do you, why do you?

00:59:36 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 4:

May the best woman win.

00:59:40 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 5:

I like that. Why do you like to hate on Shannon and Mike? They're nice people. They like you. You gotta stop using this hate word so loosely, man. What if we had Stanley play today? He'd probably guarantee a win with you picking the songs. Wouldn't that be interesting if Stanley, because he's actually really good with pop culture questions, wouldn't it be wild if all of a sudden Stanley...

01:00:00 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Hanley was like musical, you know, like maniac memory guy. You know, he knows all of his music. What can't he do? All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. Tonight, there is a party that my wife Chelsea put together to celebrate the fact that in October, I'm going to be inducted into the National Broadcasting Radio Hall of Fame. Yeah. And so she wanted to throw a party for me, but also she wanted to throw a party where we could have all the people from the radio station get together along with all of our, you know, great advertisers that we have here at iHeart. And it started off as that because it's not like family. Like, I don't have, like, my kids coming in for this or my brothers and sisters and everybody from Chicago. We're going to do something in October for that one. And you guys will be part of that, too, because you guys are coming to Chicago. ago this one was kind of like hey we appreciate what everybody that's going to be there tonight has done to help get to this point um so it's really cool and actually it's really really nice you know the first people she invited was my first advertisers of this radio show and that was uh vince and joe lucido and now fran lucido the lucido family and so it's kind of cool to see all the people that are on this guest list sales people here from the radio station past sales people um some on-air people that have you know been part of this you know radio station and of course been part of our show over the time so it's going to be fun well long story short then it all of a sudden became chelsea and i randomly just inviting people when we've been drunk so chelsea and i have had a great summer of drinking uh she with her ocho tequila me with my uh you know whatever type of bourbon i'm into that uh that night old forester or four roses and we'll just randomly just tell people hey you should come to the party so it's kind of turned into us kind of like throwing in some the mix of some people so i feel bad for anybody that we haven't invited that's somebody that we really really know that we would have invited but it was not intended at this they were not in front of you when you were drunk no like to show you how random it is and And I bring this up because I think this could be a funny set of calls if we get some good calls on this. I'd like to know who's the most random person that you ever just invited over to your house. Because I had a moment that was so random. And it was, I went to Bell Tire to go get my oil change, our oil change for my son's car. And so I go into the Bell Tire and I am at Bell Tire talking to the guys in the, you know, little loungy lobby area that they have there. where they got all the tires on display and they got their little snack area where you know it's seats where you can sit while your car is getting worked on and the guy who helped me with belts at bell tire was like the coolest guy i ever made or met his name was dave and he was like really

01:02:59 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 1:

really cool with me and we were having fun and i'm talking to him about you know stuff and he was talking about the show and he was talking about you guys he was like man he goes one of those nights i got to come to one of your parties and i'm like you know what oh my god

01:03:10 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 2:

i got an idea so dave's coming tonight i go on august the 22nd my wife is having a little party

01:03:18 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 1:

for me and i said to him i go uh can you clean yourself up you know can you can you uh can you wash wash your hands of the uh of the motor grease the motor oil that's on their hands and can you come to this party and he is invited to the party so he was like all excited and he and i totally forgot i actually invited him and that was in a sober moment yeah okay because i have i've invited people in a not so sober mode i invited people when i went to the shane gillis show and actually did something i shouldn't have been doing which was the illegal narcotic right but um but um long story short um yeah it's it's kind of weird so there's going to be people that are going to be there and we're going to be going oh my god do you remember we invited them but this does not

01:03:57 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 2:

surprise me at all about you because and kev this was before your time with the show we used to have a slew of interns all the time working with us on this show and a new intern would come in and i'd be like hey what's your name oh i'm charlie how did you how did you fall into this internship oh i gave mojo was burrito bowl at chipotle it was like always the most random story of mojo meeting somebody out and then all of a sudden they were our new intern or assistant or something so this makes sense to me yeah that tonight it's gonna be like the dave from bell tire all it takes is

01:04:28 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 1:

is hey i always wanted to be in radio all right well let's try it right now why not you start tomorrow my dad i want you to know i learned how to ride a bicycle this is no joke when i said to my dad one day i go i wonder how i'll ever ride a bicycle my dad's like we'll do it right now i was like a kid i think it was the first kid in my neighborhood but it was one of those things where it's like you gotta you why wait for tomorrow when you're not ever guaranteed it right i felt like the the bell tire thing was like your way of bringing your newfound love for the show tires into like your real life Thank you. Now you can hang out. The two worlds coexist.

01:05:04 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 4:

Which is actually kind of funny because I do commercials for Belt Tire, and I love Belt Tire. But I actually have found myself really realizing that a lot of the people that are just the random people that you encounter over a course of a time, as much as anything, you know what? I'm a customer. You listen to us. You're a customer. Let's have it together. Well, Don Barnes is going to hopefully be there. I don't know if he's coming or not, but I invited him. He's the owner of Bell Tire. Sometimes randos can make the event fun. Randos are the best fun. Yeah. And by the way, Brian Reif from Planet Fitness, no, you are not a rando. You were number one on my list of invites there. I would have invited you just to hang out on a Friday night if it wasn't a party night. What's going on, Bobby? How you doing?

01:05:59 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. How are you? Good.

01:06:01 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 4:

Bobby, who's the most random person that you've ever invited over to your home or invited to a party?

01:06:08 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was having a housewarming party, and the judge delivery guy, he seemed like a chill guy. So I was like, yeah, when you get off your shift, you can come by.

01:06:16 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 4:

That is incredible.

01:06:18 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 2:

He showed up around midnight, and for the next hour and a half, all he did was sit in my living room and pet my cat. Oh, dear. out for them drinks just did it did it most anti-social person ever and i mean that's his

01:06:32 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 4:

vibe that's his vibe but that's what happened buddy that is that might be the i i don't think i can get a better call than that one but that that may be the best call that we'll get did you

01:06:43 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

guys hang out after that night no i mean i got his number but it's never i don't know after that It was just like, I'm sure my cat wants to see him again. Right. That cat was never the same after that.

01:06:56 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny? It's funny that you say that, and I know you're joking, but it's still true. Whenever people come over to my home, I'm always amazed at the people that will enjoy my animals more than anything. Like, you're all of a sudden, you're like, okay, this person I can't believe is just enjoying Henry and Louie right now at this time. Samantha, hi, what's up?

01:07:18 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Good morning. I am a member of a free local Facebook group, and my husband and I threw a Friendsgiving dinner, and so many people from that group showed up because I just made a post, and everybody brought a dish. There was so much food, and everybody had fun. It was fantastic. That is a great story.

01:07:36 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What a great idea. How many people are in this Facebook group?

01:07:41 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Probably close to 100, I'm sure.

01:07:43 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's cool. That is so cool. You're the type of person that I would invite to this party. Somebody texted in and said, it wouldn't surprise me if Mojo invites Stanley from the 5 at 6.55 to the party. Who do you think is popping out the cake? People do this at weddings, too. Text right here and said, my husband and I were getting married. The guy that we met when we were hanging out, picking out all of our stuff for our wedding, came to our wedding.

01:08:10 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Wes did that, remember? When we were having our wedding party and he was inviting the bartender from the restaurant we were at. That's right. You can't do that. we were like we have family not coming because we had a account that we had to be under do you

01:08:23 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 4:

remember when you had your dances at school and the kid in school that you'd never expect to like put on a suit put on a suit or something or you had like your graduation and the kid that always every single day came to school with like the the deaf leopard shirt all of a sudden was wearing like a nice outfit like when you see people in nice outfits that you normally don't see yeah It's kind of like that when I've had parties or we've gone to, like, weddings and stuff. And all of a sudden, you're like, like, could you imagine seeing Lester in a suit? Oh, yeah. Lester probably clean up. Right? Lester probably clean. But it's kind of wild. Like, all of a sudden, you know, you see, like, you know, the promo kid or whatever, like, walking around. Well, Nick. Put a shaved face. But doesn't it surprise you, though, when you first see it? Yeah. Like, you're like, hold on a second. Wait a minute. Like, I don't see that. Like the janitor at school, I'll never forget this. I will never forget graduating from St. Michael's and Mr. Ferris, who is our janitor, to the eighth grade graduation that we had, put on a suit. I never saw Mr. Ferris in anything but those brown pants with that tan shirt that was like the work guy's shirt.

01:09:35 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

And 68 keys. Keys hanging around, right? And his balls.

01:09:39 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? Like you're sitting there the whole time going, and then Mr. Ferris had a Mrs. Ferris. and when you ever see like your your teachers or any of that stuff with their significant others yeah and you're all surprised so we don't have to wear suits tonight no no no no i don't people have been asking me what i'm what i'm wearing honestly i'm i'm wearing shorts i know people

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

People don't think that's crazy. It's going to be 80 degrees today, and it's going to get down to, like, 70s tonight. I want to enjoy it.

01:10:06 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so no suits.

01:10:07 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 2:

And we're having it in a place where there's a patio and stuff like that and fire pits and all that stuff, so it's going to be fun. Okay. All right, it's going to be a good time.

01:10:15 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, 2025 Radio Hall of Fame inductee. Congrats on all your life accomplishments. You can parallel park, you can use a washer and dryer, and you can take the dogs out before they pee in the house. Oh, and congrats on the Hall of Fame, too.

01:10:28 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Thank you. Did you guys see this story that came out yesterday? There's like an alert that came out about the Villanova school. The university was on lockdown because there was an active shooter. So the alerts came in the afternoon and I said, oh, my God, they just started school and they had this thing. Turns out that it was a swatting incident. So it didn't happen. There was not an active shooter at Villanova yesterday. If you saw that news report about that happening. But it also has happened at three other schools at the beginning of this year, including University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where it happened. And I see these swatting stories all the time. And I've always wanted to ask this question. Has anybody listening ever been swatted? Like, what is the deal with this, where they call in something fake to the police and then the police all show up there?

01:11:21 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 4:

That's so scary, though. Then they put the entire campus on lockdown in some cases.

01:11:25 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 2:

And I thank God that it didn't happen, but I also think that the panic that those kids must have had on their first week on campus. That's awful.

01:11:33 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 4:

Do they ever catch these people who do it?

01:11:35 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 2:

They think the Villanova one, they're going to catch this person, and they think that there could be ties between the couple that have happened this week.

01:11:42 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 3:

But that's the thing. There's got to be penalties for this, because if there's no consequence, then what prevents you from... People will keep on doing it. Exactly. It's a prank call. Yeah.

01:11:49 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that when a person does like this swatting stuff to celebrities, because have you seen the celebrities at this?

01:11:55 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it happens all the time.

01:11:56 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that when they happen, are they like a teenager doing them? Or like who predominantly is doing it?

01:12:02 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, but they lame as hell. Like a lot of these people are just trying to do it for social media clock. Like they think it's cool to be like, I'm the one that caused the mayhem. And it's not funny.

01:12:11 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 4:

But here's the problem in a case of like Villanova. That's a lot of resources that are then all being directed to that campus that could possibly be used in an emergency elsewhere. You know, God forbid something happens.

01:12:24 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Let me read you guys the story about this Villanova situation. So it was yesterday afternoon, and Villanova is in Philadelphia area, and it happened yesterday afternoon. They did not know for a period of time that this was an actual fake swatting situation. They didn't realize that it was fake, and they said that the police, as well as their active shooter resources that were on campus, all were in effect. The students were put on the lockdown. Many of the students that were in different university buildings were told to stand in place with not knowing what was going on, and then it was found out that this was completely fake. everything of what they said that was going to be happening wasn't the case. And when they found out that multiple times that the situation was like that, they realized that it was a fake. Christina, what's going on?

01:13:33 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, to answer your guys' question about is there consequences, yes, there are. You can actually be charged with terrorism.

01:13:42 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, and you know what? We need to punish them like terrorists, right? I mean, I think this is – what they did to those kids is as bad as having a shooting on campus because now you just –

01:13:53 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 5:

Yes, because it caused mental problems. And you just used resources. All those – Yeah, you did.

01:14:02 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 2:

What happens if there was something that was going on at that time that they had to take all the resources away, the police resources away, to end up doing that? What's up, Tyler? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:12 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 6:

i just wanted to say it actually happens a lot with online gaming i've seen situations where people on live streaming uh people will call in and swat the people uh say there's like a threat going on or there's someone getting attacked and they'll watch the person's home get um barged into and um get pretty much get on lockdown and arrest the person just streaming a video game how do they

01:14:40 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 2:

know where that person lives like if you're online gaming how do you know that it's like a hacker

01:14:45 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 6:

getting their ip address or something and they can locate their home through their ip address i've seen videos of it online where uh they will watch these people and they have headphones on they don't hear anyone entering their home

01:15:00 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 2:

It's an extremely dangerous situation and people have gotten hurt from it.

01:15:03 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Wow. This just happened to a recent guy that's a streamer. His name is DDG. He had a child with Halle Berry. Halle Berry, the girl that played Little Mermaid. Oh, yes. He was streaming like a paintball thing in Las Vegas and someone swatted it. Police showed up, arrested him, put him in a car, and then they figured out what actually happened. Holy crap. Yeah, he's right.

01:15:23 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 2:

It happens a lot. It takes a while because they're disoriented. A lot of the times they have headphones on with music. the police are screaming at them and half the time they can't hear them which makes it even worse

01:15:34 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 5:

have they ever had a situation where somebody's actually lost a life because of this like where somebody turned around saw all these cops that were there and the cops ended up shooting them or something because I think

01:15:45 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 2:

I haven't heard of that but I think people have gotten hurt

01:15:50 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 5:

yeah I can only imagine that that would be something that could happen Sean your work got swatted

01:15:56 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 3:

yeah I used to work for a restaurant back in colorado and a customer came in mad and didn't get the help that they were looking for so they swatted the pool and swatted the restaurant jesus man and they caught and they caught him actually i never heard if they caught him or not but i don't know if he was like a previous employee or something no it was it was a customer i was there when it had one okay the thing blew up and they were disgruntled over how their food was presented to them so they called

01:16:31 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 5:

in well it's you know what this is this is like the modern day version of the people that call in

01:16:37 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 1:

a fake bomb threat uh heather what's up hi hey when my daughter was in the seventh grade her and four of her friends just had a group text chat that someone looked over the shoulder and my daughter's friend got busted with a bomb threat that was non-existent and was almost charged in the 7th grade. They had to get a serious lawyer about getting charged with terrorism.

01:17:03 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 5:

Well, do you remember when... In the 7th grade. Do you remember there was a bunch of... Right after the Oxford shooting, there was a bunch of the fake call-ins of threats and then they ended up having to step up security at all the schools. A lot of kids wanted to get time off from school. And I remember the Oakland County prosecutors was like, we will prosecute you. And these kids got prosecuted. A bunch of these kids did. Mojo in the morning. I want to know what's the McCann rank. There are so many of them out there. I mean, literally, it's one possible day. And Mike, can I go, what was the one that he likes? Long drinks. He likes long drinks. I'm like, you know what? I don't like to drink those ones. I like to go good old fashioned. Give me a mix. But I will tell you that there are times where you feel like you can just pretty much down anything and you want to down, you know, down a drink. Lydia, hold on. Let me give me an, give me an outside line here. I want to make a phone call real quick if I can.

01:18:03 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 2:

Eight is yours.

01:18:04 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. It's weird how our phone line is. Lydia, if she wants, she can pick up my line from, wait, what just happened there?

01:18:13 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 2:

We had a listener calling on that line. Okay, try 10.

01:18:16 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 5:

Christ. Christ.

01:18:20 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 4:

Jesus Christ.

01:18:21 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 5:

This is like, you know what it was like? We had, you know, home phones at our house when we were kids. You know, the good old fashioned home phones. And my dad could never get on the phone. So my dad would always go, hang up the phone.

01:18:32 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 1:

It would beep if somebody else was calling. Right. Remember that? Would you ever have that at all? Hang up the phone, mother.

01:18:38 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 5:

And my dad would get so angry if, like, we were on the phone. Who's on the phone? Hang up the phone. I need to make a phone call. I need to call somebody.

01:18:48 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 4:

I miss home phones. Having to like walk under limbo style from the court. If somebody had to use the home phone near the kitchen.

01:18:54 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It'd be a vibe. We're going to take calls here in a second for everybody's votes. But I want to call up the alcohol expert. Wouldn't that be great to be the, like, you know how you have experts that are like, here's our medical expert. Here's our science expert. Here's our space expert. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show's drinking expert.

01:19:15 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 4:

Live from the dunk tank.

01:19:16 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 5:

Alcohol expert. He's not picking up his phone. I just talked to him a second.

01:19:22 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

01:19:22 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 5:

Louie.

01:19:23 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hey, Louie.

01:19:25 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you? This is Louie Yeldo, who owns the Brass Mug, which is over in Livonia. I love that town. Livonia, Albania.

01:19:34 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 2:

Someone who probably. Wait, wait.

01:19:36 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I was trying to get the Livonia, Albania drop. Hold on, where is it at? Livonia, Albania. Livonia, Albania. Livonia, Albania. There you go. So, Louie, we're talking about in-the-can drinks. You know what I'm talking about? Like these drinks that are popular, like the seltzers and things like that?

01:19:57 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they have everything.

01:20:00 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Ready to drink.

01:20:01 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 3:

Jack Daniels in a can with Coke and stuff like that. I'm looking at all these ads for all these ones. What's your number one seller at the Brass Mug? Which one sells the most? High Noon.

01:20:12 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

High Noon.

01:20:12 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Is it? I hate that stuff.

01:20:15 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 1:

High Noon is still good.

01:20:15 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 3:

High Noon tastes like pee water. It's horrible.

01:20:19 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 1:

I still like High Noon.

01:20:20 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

Not that I know what pee water is like.

01:20:22 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

High Noon and then you have the tea.

01:20:27 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Twisted tea. Twisted teas.

01:20:29 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 2:

Twisted tea.

01:20:31 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. How many of them do you have at the Brass Mug? You got a huge selection, don't you?

01:20:38 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 2:

A lot. Like, there's probably 2,000 different kinds.

01:20:43 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 1:

Dang. Do you sell the ranch water? Like, the actual brand ranch water? I can't find that anywhere.

01:20:48 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we have the ranch water. Do you know what's funny about Louie, too? If you go into Brass Mug, and if they don't have it, he will get it for you, and he'll get it within, like, two days.

01:20:58 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Louie, we're talking about long drink. That's like my favorite at the moment, and Mike's too.

01:21:04 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 2:

That's going crazy. For the last year, it's going like crazy.

01:21:09 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What about cut water? Because that's what I've been seeing a lot on Instagram. There's so many of those.

01:21:15 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 2:

Cut water just, yeah, just got popular too. Yeah. It's been, especially, it's like for the last two months, crazy.

01:21:28 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask a quick question, Louis? Are there more women buying these things or men buying them, or is it both? Both. Really? That's crazy. All right, hold on, Louis. We're going to grab some callers here. I want you to stay with me and tell me if you got this in the store. We talked about Twisted Tea. Kyle, you're calling about your favorite is Twisted Teas? Oh, absolutely. Like, especially in the summertime, it is like the perfect patio drink. Have you ever checked your blood sugar? Do you have diabetes? No diabetes yet. Are there different flavors of twisted tea other than just the normal tea, like the sweet tea? What do they have? They have peach. They have light. The bomb pop one is really popular in the summertime. A little variety pick. All right. Kyle says twisted tea. Lauren, what's your favorite? Funny, do you seltzer? Sunny D. Do you remember being a kid drinking Sunny D, Louie? Did your mom ever give you Sunny D's? No. No sugar for you, Louie.

01:22:38 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 1:

I hated Sunny D. It was like thick. It was like cough medicine.

01:22:43 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 3:

You like it, though, Lauren, huh?

01:22:46 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they have so many good flavors, too.

01:22:49 - 01:22:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it brings back memories of your childhood, doesn't it?

01:22:52 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 2:

A little bit.

01:22:54 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right, hold on a second here. Tanya, what's your favorite? Which one's your favorite?

01:22:59 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 2:

High Noon Watermelon or Peach.

01:23:03 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 3:

Watermelon is the best flavor of High Noon. Other than that, all the rest of them are crap. I hate those things. I don't get the High Noon thing, and that's all they sell at the golf courses that I play at.

01:23:13 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 1:

Do you like the High Noon tequila ones in the green can?

01:23:16 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 3:

So I'm not a tequila guy. Okay. But the thing that I've been into lately is transfusions with tequila instead of with vodka, which has been really good. Louis, what's the number one flavor of High Noon that sells over at the Brass Mug? It's the Variety Pack. The Variety Pack, yeah. Everybody loves it. Variety Pack from the bus. Yeah. I always hate when I buy the Variety Pack and everybody drinks my watermelon ones and I get stuck with all the other stuff. Troy, what's your favorite? Four Loko. People are still drinking Four Loko?

01:23:55 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 1:

I thought that was like banned.

01:23:57 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes, sir. Where do you live? Washington.

01:24:03 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know what? You got a bad party store in your neighborhood. That's the reason why you're... That's from like 2010. Check the expiration date on it, Troy. The expiration date is 20. First time, wrong time. Hey, it's been Troy on the phone. Louie, do you still sell Four Loko?

01:24:21 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we still sell Four Loko, yeah. That is good.

01:24:25 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 3:

Are the same people that are buying Four Locos also getting a Michigan lottery ticket in Swisher Sweets or a vape? Swisher Sweets. Hold on a second here. Jeff says one. I've never heard of this one before. Jeff, what's your favorite? Cayman Jack Margarita. Is that a popular one? Cayman Jack Margarita? It's on a Google. I've never heard of that one.

01:24:48 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 2:

David Jack is good, but it's not popular, but it's good. It's really good.

01:24:51 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

It is good, Louie. Do you taste them all? It comes in mango and strawberry and watermelon and all the spicy flavors. Louie, how...

01:25:00 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 1:

well do you know your product yeah louis are you just drinking all day what's your liver like

01:25:04 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

01:25:45 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

01:26:15 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 2:

your favorite drink uh what's that taste like oh i just had one of those yeah they're they kind of

01:26:24 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 3:

taste like juice like i'm not the type of person to drink like a seltzer and have it super strong

01:26:31 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 2:

it's like a lemonade and vodka iced tea vodka they're really good yeah those were good surf

01:26:37 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

sides hey louie you know how much i love bourbon i mean you got me into it i you and brian reef made me an alcoholic, but what is a good bourbon in the can drink? Are there any good ones? No.

01:26:53 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 2:

I feel like they don't have that. You should make one. Really?

01:26:55 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:26:56 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

Do they even have one?

01:26:57 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 1:

Louie, can we come up with a mojo version that tastes like either an old-fashioned or bourbon and lemonade?

01:27:04 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah. I take that back. There was a lot of old-fashioned on the can. A lot of old-fashioned.

01:27:09 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 1:

But it's not good. None of them are good, you're saying?

01:27:12 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 3:

I mean, there's – I think there's one that's called Top Top. It's really good. Okay. It's a four-pack can. It comes in a small can.

01:27:23 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:27:24 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 3:

What?

01:27:25 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 1:

I tried. The problem is with these cans, I like the canned ones because it's easy, like, to throw in a cooler, you know, at a party or something. Or if you're on a golf course, throw them in a big bag full of ice or something like that. But the problem is I like to bring a good old-fashioned bottle of bourbon with me and have a drink drink. You know what I mean? I'll drink it right out of the bottle on the golf course. Not out of the bottle. Sometimes if I'm sitting in an alley on Grash It over here, I'm like over.

01:27:53 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 3:

Have I had what? You got to try the Iron Fish old-fashioned.

01:27:59 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 1:

Is it good? All right. I got to try that. I'm coming in to try that. Hold on. Kevin, we're on with Louie from the Brass Mug. What's your favorite?

01:28:08 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. I just want to start off with saying, where it was talking about the Cayman Jack stuff, that stuff is trash. That's the garbage. I don't know how anybody drinks that. But my drink of the summer has definitely been the Sun Cruisers, especially the Pink Lemonade. Those have been the absolute best. I've never heard of those either.

01:28:27 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 1:

By the way, this better be good if you're trashing one in somebody else's drink.

01:28:32 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 2:

It's good. No, it's good. Maybe it's an East Coast thing if you haven't heard of it yet.

01:28:36 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, real quick, what is your normal bottle mixture type thing? Are you a vodka? Are you a tequila? Are you a whiskey guy?

01:28:49 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 2:

Definitely a tequila guy. Love me some Palomas. A little Palomas.

01:28:54 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 1:

What happened in the last year where this Ocho came out of nowhere and made everybody doing tequila?

01:29:02 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 3:

yeah free additives everybody wants free additives now is that what what is free additives what is that no you know they don't add yeah they're like they don't add anything to it no okay so so it's

01:29:16 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 1:

free of additives yeah why do people want to be healthy when we're getting drunk you know what i mean like why are we we're always trying to get healthy we got to stop being so healthy that's you know look at our parents our parents never got healthy and they lived till they were 90 we're all dying when we're 40. What's going on, Maria? How you doing?

01:29:34 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 3:

You know why High Noon is popular?

01:29:36 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 1:

Why? Hold on, Maria. Yeah, why?

01:29:39 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 3:

Because it's high and noon.

01:29:45 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

It's the laugh that did me. I wanted a joke. I'd follow you into the john and watch you take a leak. Louie, you got another one for us? Maria, Maria, what's going on? Hi, Maria. Hi.

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 6:

Okay, Shannon, you've got to try MomSquad. Have you had MomSquad?

01:30:05 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 3:

MomSquad? No. That's a great name. Hang on, I'm going to look it up. MomSquad drinks. Oh, my gosh.

01:30:10 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 6:

It's like a vodka-infused water. They have, like, Karen, Linda, Julie.

01:30:15 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, Nancy. Yes.

01:30:19 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 5:

It's like a golden drink.

01:30:20 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 3:

Wait, this is so funny.

01:30:21 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 5:

Wait, do they sell that at the Brass Mug at all, MomSquad? And it's vodka. Yeah, we do.

01:30:27 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 1:

Mojo. Yeah. That's too much workout, man. Mom water.

01:30:30 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 6:

That's so good. Louie is amazing. I go to see my daughter at state, and she takes me to all these frat parties, and I'm like a vodka tonic drinker, and I'm like, well, I can't start at 3 o'clock in the afternoon or I'll be asleep by 5. So I'm like, just give me one of those Karens, and I'm just going to sit here and sip on it for like four hours.

01:30:53 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome, Maria. Hey, go green, Maria.

01:30:57 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, go white.

01:30:58 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 5:

We love you. Take care of yourself. So let me recommend something, and this is something for anybody that's listening. If you have never been to the Brass Mug, Livonia, you've got to go there and see Louie. If any of you guys, especially you, Shannon, and Kevin, and Lydia, and Bianca, and Zach, if you go in there at night and Louie is working or Andy's working, this is no joke. They will pull a bottle off the shelf, and they will sit there and have fun with you. Like, it's seriously. Louie, how many years in business for you? 25 years.

01:31:29 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, congratulations.

01:31:31 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 5:

How many times have you had to kick me out of that place? Never. I swear to God, I'm not kidding when I say this to you. This guy, he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to anything that you want.

01:31:49 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 3:

Is he peeing or is he drinking? What are you drinking? Please God, tell me he's drinking.

01:31:56 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 5:

Water. Go on it. Go on it. Yeah, okay. Louie, I love you, buddy. I'll talk to you soon. See you, guys. I'll see you tonight. I'll see you tonight. I'll see you tonight, brother. I love you. Love you, man.

01:32:11 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 2:

See, you could have been listening to the crap the other morning shows are talking about, but you heard that on Mojo in the Morning. Happy?

01:32:18 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 5:

Benson Boone sold out tickets. We got them for you right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Give me a Benson Boone riff there, Kev. Uh, I'm sorry I'm here for someone else. 844-665-6548.

01:32:38 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:32:40 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 5:

All right, what do you got in this hour?

01:32:42 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm going to start off with some breaking sports dirty. Malik Beasley, no longer the target of that federal gambling investigation that is according to ESPN and his attorneys. So this potentially reopens free agency.

01:32:55 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Malik. Come on. Will the Pistons sign him? Come home. That would be huge. Or did they already replace him with that white dude?

01:33:03 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Duncan Robinson, former Michigan Wolverine. Yeah. And in essence, he got the money that Malik probably would have acquired in free agency. But we still, I believe, have an extra roster spot. And the more, the merrier. Malik, come home.

01:33:16 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 3:

Eric Menendez denied parole yesterday by a California parole board more than 36 years after he and his brother Lyle convicted of murdering their parents.

01:33:27 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm sorry.

01:33:28 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know what? That's my bad. I didn't tell you to pull it. No, that's okay.

01:33:30 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 1:

This morning, Eric Menendez has been denied parole after making his bid for freedom. Eric appearing for the hearing via video link from a San Diego correctional facility. The hearing lasting more than nine hours. But it wasn't long afterwards that a California parole board denied his request, saying he poses an unreasonable risk to public safety. Commissioners focused heavily on rule violations, spending more than two hours on illegal cell phone usage while in prison.

01:33:58 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 2:

He paid $1,000 for one. He apparently took another from a prison guard or bought one from a prison guard. And that, according to the parole board, showed a certain level of criminality.

01:34:09 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 1:

Eric admitting he paid $1,000 for one of those cell phones, saying, I really became addicted to the phones. You're doing life without parole. This is not really harming anyone. The board also noting Eric Menendez's inappropriate behavior with visitors, drug smuggling, misuse of state computers, and violent incidents. One parole board member noting that it is Eric Menendez's behavior in prison that led to the denial, saying, Contrary to your supporters' beliefs, you have not been a model prisoner. And frankly, we find that a little disturbing. Just as he claimed more than three decades ago in his first trial, Eric Menendez says they killed their parents after years of sexual abuse by their father.

01:34:50 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 6:

My dad had been molesting me.

01:34:53 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 1:

They said they feared their father would kill them once they broke the secret of that abuse. And when asked why he killed his mother. Eric described feeling betrayed when he learned she knew about the abuse for years. I saw my mother and my father as one person after I learned that she knew. So when I was running into the den, I was in a state of terror, of panic, of rage. In a statement, his family saying our belief in Eric remains unwavering and we know he will take the board's recommendation in stride.

01:35:22 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 2:

There were some touching moments in that parole hearing. At one point, the brother's Aunt Terry, her voice quivering. you could hear that she was fighting back tears said that she still loved her brother but that she had forgiven eric ultimately it didn't matter the parole board delivering that crushing blow to

01:35:37 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 4:

eric menendez wow and lyle's parole parole hearing is scheduled for today i mean wouldn't that be something if he gets released yeah and his brother sits his butt i mean the stuff they brought up is

01:35:49 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 5:

pretty interesting the guy wasn't following any of the rules i mean he's in prison and he's i would I'd love to know the specifics on what he was doing, but sneaking things in.

01:35:57 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 4:

Have you guys seen Serena Williams lately? Any photos of her? She was sharing this photo, a couple of photos of her in this, like, gorgeous, bright yellow bathing suit this week. Lost 31 pounds using Zet Bound.

01:36:11 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 6:

I'm Serena Williams, and I'm a real row member. This morning, Serena Williams breaking her silence about her weight loss journey, revealing she used medication to help her lose 31 pounds. They say GLP-1s for weight loss is a shortcut. It's not. It's science. After kids, it's the medicine my body needed. The 43-year-old tennis star who has won 23 Grand Slams says she struggled with weight after giving birth to her first child, Alexis, in 2017 and then again when Adira was born in 2023, telling People magazine, I never was able to get to the weight I needed to be no matter what I did, no matter how much I trained. After she was done breastfeeding, Williams turning to the telehealth company Rowe for GLP-1 injections.

01:36:57 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 3:

These GLP-1 drugs help our body regulate how much we're eating by essentially signaling to our brains that we're full. And they help to regulate blood sugar. Kev, you don't like it, huh?

01:37:11 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 5:

I mean, just... What don't you like? Her ass used to be so fat. You want her to be skinny You remember Serena in a Nike cat suit She used to wear That was peak performance Can I tell you though I give her so many props Because when I see the celebrities That take the drugs And I'm doing a shot And I will admit it As a person that has struggled with my weight my whole life I want to know what other people are doing And I want to know that it's safe

01:37:41 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 4:

And it's working

01:37:42 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 5:

I had people that asked on a picture said, you know, I know you won't tell us, but how have you lost weight? I'm like, I'll tell you at Zep Bound and Dr. Warner, you know, my doctor, I went to him. You can go to your doctor for the thing. I give her respect for doing it. I don't know if it's obviously, it must be, she's getting paid endorsement, but there are so many times where I'll see people that take it and just won't say anything about it because they are fear, fear of people saying this. And honestly, if it's helping you like if you have adhd and you take adderall or whatever you're taking you have it whatever the deal is i i believe that as a a person i think weight is my issue man that's my that's my alcoholism so if something's going to help me and make me healthier i'm going to take

01:38:27 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

it my doctors told me to take it apple tv plus raised its u.s subscription price people are pissed about this one used to be 9.99 now it's going to be 12.99 per month angering some of its 45 million subscribers. This is the first increase since 2023. But when Apple TV first launched back in 2019, it was only $4.99 a month.

01:38:47 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 5:

Bruh, I can't keep up, man.

01:38:48 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 4:

I mean, and Apple's defending it, of course, saying hit shows like Severance and Slow Horses, it's ad-free experience, all contribute to, like, we deserve to raise our price, so. If you do have Apple TV, check out a new show called Smoke. Okay.

01:39:02 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 5:

All right, I'm going to solicit for the topic here, but when Kevin tells you his, you're going to die. What did you sleep through? You were so tired, you didn't wake up, and you slept through something big, something monumental. What was the thing that you slept through? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

01:43:09 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 6:

Right. Mr. Cavnose. Yeah. Tell us your story, man. So yesterday, this friend of mine, she went to an event. She had the event. I knew she was going. She told me she was going to go. She wanted to see kind of what time I was going to bed. I've been trying to get some more Z's in. So I told her like 11. She like, oh, the event will still be going. So I was going to come over, but you'll be asleep. I'm like, okay, cool. Boom, boom. She texted me yesterday around 9 something. I didn't see the text message, but I was still up. So I texted her back at around like 10. I'm like, her text was just, what are you doing? So obviously we know what's going on. So I'm like, you know, when I wake, I finally see it. I'm like, hey, what's up? She's like, my feet hurt. I've been wearing heels all night. I'm like, okay, you can see where this is going. She's like, I need a foot massage. Do you mind rubbing my feet? Are you into that? Yeah, I give a dog-ass foot massage.

01:44:03 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 5:

You give a dog-ass foot massage to a woman's dogs.

01:44:09 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 6:

Translate, please. Right, to her dogs. So she's like, can you rub my feet? And obviously, you know, you can read between the lines to see what that means, but there are times where I feel like playing along, and then there are other times where I need to be specific and blunt so we can actually know what's going on so there's no room for misinterpretation. So when she says, can you rub my feet, I say, can you, and then you can allow your mind to know where that goes. You just came right out and said that? Yeah, I said, can you give me... Well, okay. You know what I mean? And that's what happened. You asked directly for that? I'll show you the text. I swear.

01:44:43 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 5:

I've been doing it wrong my whole life.

01:44:44 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not saying that's the right way to do it. And like I said, sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't. This is one of those moments. Okay. It's like tense. I'm getting ready for bed. I'm tired. I'm like, this is what's going on. If I'm going to stay up, I need to know what's happening. So she... I forgot what she said exactly, but she... I can tell you what she said.

01:45:00 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 3:

And she was like, hmm, maybe I kind of want to. So I'm like, okay. So we talk a little bit.

01:45:05 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 4:

So you're thinking it's on. It's on.

01:45:07 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying? So then I make a little joke. She sent back some crying face, laughing emojis. Next thing I know, dog, I wake up. It's 1034. I got a missed FaceTime call and a text message like, wake up. And I'm like, bro, I done slept through. What's the opportunity?

01:45:22 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? And was she not responding to you then after you tried to get off?

01:45:26 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 3:

At that point, I knew it was over.

01:45:28 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

12 43 she went somewhere else for her foot massage oh my god it's so funny because when we were talking about doing this topic and the topic again is what did you sleep through all i kept thinking of was people calling up saying i slept through my final exam uh you know i slept through i don't know uh my first day at work you know i mean like overslept stuff like that kevin's he he slept through a booty call and i miss face time

01:46:02 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 4:

i mean it's really real have you heard from her this morning no i text her back this morning i

01:46:06 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 2:

We got iHeartRadio Music Festival coming up in a second here. We're going to give you a chance to go. Almost slept through the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

01:46:33 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 4:

Vegas is tough, man.

01:46:35 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 2:

We did time sleeping. We did a whole bunch of stuff during the day.

01:46:40 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, we did a show in the middle of the night. Remember, we go into the studio at 1 in the morning to do the show.

01:46:46 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 2:

Went back to the room. So the schedule is this. We did our show. then we did remember the uh village area like the uh the whatever the village is whoever the sponsor was it's like an outdoor area where they had a bunch of artists and then it was hey we're gonna go back to the uh hotel the casino gonna get some rest maybe a nap or something in and then we have the party that night or thing that night man oh man i had like two alarms set on my phone like i do every single morning for waking up here wake up and i look at the clock i'm like oh And I look at my phone and there's text messages and stuff. So almost slept through the iHeartRadio Music Festival, which would have been not as bad as sleeping through a girl coming over to give me a hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee By the way, do you ever have a guy that says to you, have you ever, Shannon, as a woman, ever had a guy say to you, can you give me this tonight? Like, you ever have a guy that's that blunt that comes right out and says it?

01:47:45 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:47:46 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 2:

Really? My husband this morning. I've been doing it wrong.

01:47:50 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

I already know what he's anticipating this evening.

01:47:53 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 2:

I've been doing it wrong. What's going on, Amanda? Hi, how you doing?

01:47:56 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 4:

Very specific.

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, guys.

01:47:59 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Amanda? What did you sleep through?

01:48:02 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 6:

I slept through an entire squad, like a state police and squad cars and like a whole team of like these police officers and like federal agents coming with a megaphone outside of our building to get my neighbor because he was under arrest for random like nine different drive-by shootings. And they kicked his door down And they collected all the guns And they arrested people And I had to hear about it the next morning From my husband

01:48:33 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy To know all that action is going on And you're missing the entire thing Because you're snoozing away What's going on Matt Hi what did you sleep through

01:48:46 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh okay so I was a sophomore in college At this party in my fraternity house and this woman was kind enough to accompany me to my room to get a beer and see what else happens. So Match was still on the floor, welcome week. She's performing an act that Kevin would be proud of, and somehow I got sleepy in the middle of that, and I was no longer awake, and she was so offended, she left my room wide open. So her girlfriends are coming in with their little digital cameras. It's like 1998, maybe.

01:49:19 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

They were taking pictures of your wiener exposed, huh?

01:49:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly. I was there on a mattress on the floor.

01:49:26 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 2:

What college was this? What school is this?

01:49:28 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 1:

Michigan State.

01:49:29 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, look at that. Typical Spartan there. That's crazy.

01:49:34 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Little Spartan activity in a stupid fraternity house, and good times were had until they weren't. And then that was embarrassing.

01:49:41 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 2:

That is unreal. That is so crazy. Sal, hi. What did you sleep through?

01:49:45 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 5:

So when I was in like sixth grade, I came home and I fell asleep one day and all of a sudden I wake up at like 6 p.m.

01:50:00 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 6:

to my mom shaking me awake and she's like oh my god sell are you okay and i was like yeah what's wrong and she's like so there was a tornado down the street and across the street from me there was a set of warehouses and a tornado had touched down and then picked back up within a span of five minutes but apparently the two and a half hours i was asleep there were sirens going my mom And I slept through the entire thing.

01:50:32 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 3:

You know who you are? You're Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.

01:50:37 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 6:

I didn't get picked up, though, luckily. I didn't get picked up.

01:50:40 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy.

01:50:41 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 6:

That is crazy and very scary.

01:50:43 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, I fall asleep all the time at night, and they said those tornado warnings, and I'm thinking to myself, I'm going to sleep right through it, probably, right? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-654. Listen to the Anthony's. Anthony, what did you sleep through?

01:50:59 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I slept through a mortar round when I was in Iraq.

01:51:03 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 3:

Wait, are you one of our brave men that served? Yeah, I retired from the Army in 2012.

01:51:11 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for your service. Thank you for your service. Thank you.

01:51:14 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 4:

Do you just get used to it? You just get used to all that noise all the time?

01:51:20 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 2:

Kind of, yes, because I used to drive convoys over there as a truck driver. And, you know, after an 18-hour day, you get back, you're dead tired. So I slept through it more around a hit, maybe like 15, 20 feet behind my building.

01:51:34 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:51:36 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:51:37 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Buddy, that is crazy. Again, thank you for what you've done. Listen to this one. LaBelle, what did you sleep through?

01:51:43 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 1:

Patty? No, it was my daughter. I gave my daughter a 24th surprise birthday party. She lived in Chicago at the time, brought her home, and she was so tired. She couldn't even go. Like, she completely slept through the party, and we had friends and family and everybody that came. Her own party? Her own party. You didn't spend. Like, I tried to wake her up and tell her, hey, I'm sorry to tell you this, but I have a party planned for you. She was like, Mom, I can't. And she slept through her surprise birthday party. You didn't spend a lot of his money and drove all the way there.

01:52:18 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Rubo, what did you sleep through?

01:52:22 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 7:

They actually slipped through the Future of Metro Booming concert when they came.

01:52:26 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 3:

Were you at the concert?

01:52:28 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 7:

I was. The man didn't want to come out until 1130 at freaking nighttime.

01:52:32 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. So you were just sitting in your chair and you just, nobody.

01:52:35 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 7:

Concert started at 8 o'clock and he didn't come out until 1130. That's ridiculous.

01:52:40 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 3:

And nobody woke you up?

01:52:43 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 7:

No. I woke up maybe an hour before it was finished, finished. But, yeah.

01:52:49 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 3:

Amazing.

01:52:49 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 7:

I've slept through.

01:52:50 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I hate when those artists that come on late like that suck. Dani, what's up, Dani? Hi. Hi. How's it going? Good. How are you doing? What did you sleep through?

01:53:02 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 5:

In college, I donated blood for one of those little blood drives, and they ended up taking double from me, so I was so tired. I slept through one of my exams.

01:53:10 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, did you fail your exam because of that?

01:53:15 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 5:

No, they were understanding. I had to talk to the professor, though. Luckily, it worked out, but, yeah.

01:53:19 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 3:

Did you know you was giving double?

01:53:23 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 5:

No, actually, that they forgot about me. And they had to, one of the other nurses ran back when they noticed a bag was about to burst.

01:53:33 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's scary.

01:53:36 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

It took double blood out of me.

01:53:38 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:53:39 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 8:

And I'm a very petite person.

01:53:41 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 3:

That's like a lawsuit.

01:53:44 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God.

01:53:47 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez. Hold on a second here. Jeff, you slept through your honeymoon?

01:53:54 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. Yeah. First time, long time trying to get through color. Hey!

01:54:02 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

Jeff on the phone! Wait, you slept through your honeymoon, Jeff? Ah! The second half. The second half.

01:54:11 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 4:

The second half. What happened? We took a cruise through the Bahamas, and apparently, if you like alcohol, you turn around, and everywhere there's a bar. And the second half of the honeymoon, I just slept.

01:54:34 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 3:

I ruined it all. Your poor wife. Although, did she go out and enjoy herself with everybody else on the cruise ship?

01:54:41 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 8:

god knows if i know are you guys still married today

01:54:48 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

no that wedding lasted like all about five months he still slapped the crew he slapped through the inside wait wait what's the fairy

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 3:

Is it Sleeping Beauty on the phone with us right now? Jeff's a character.

01:55:05 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I feel bad because I missed all the excursions that we're supposed to do, but I just, I fell asleep. I was puking in the doc room and everything, and I mean, it was a mess.

01:55:24 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 3:

Poor guy. He's got to get a new redo on that one. And Kevin, what's up, Kevin?

01:55:29 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 2:

you there hey this is kevin good morning hey kevin what'd you sleep through i was a police officer out in san diego and uh i fell asleep uh and uh during the day i was working third watch and i'm the second person ever to sleep through third watch and i woke up to two grumpy police officers in my room that managed to get into my house and wake me up and they were my alarm what is what is third watch explain that to us third watch starts from nine o'clock uh at night

01:55:58 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 3:

seven in the morning and you just slept through your entire shift no i slept through the first

01:56:03 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 2:

like 30 minutes and i woke up to two angry police officers from another division in my room

01:56:08 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 3:

waking me up oh my god that's by the way and probably not a great one police officer i always wondered if any of those cops that are on like a surveillance thing have

01:56:21 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

ever fallen asleep on a surveillance all the time it has to i mean we we would go to sleep all the time when we were working at night and so you just have someone else and someone else working sitting next to you as long as someone's awake you can take a nap you can take a nap man uh

01:56:35 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

kaylin uh i'm gonna take you because another spartan partying too much kaylin what did you

01:56:42 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 6:

sleep through so when i was at sea i woke up to a police officer in my bedroom and it was uh because a man had broken through our front door of Home Alone. A guy broke through our front door, sliced his head open on the glass door, and blood threw the entire house.

01:57:01 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 3:

Holy scary. And you slept the whole time. You didn't hear the broken door or any of that stuff? No.

01:57:08 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 6:

Sure didn't. I got woken up by a police officer to go outside and identify a guy in an ambulance.

01:57:14 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. I had no idea who it was.

01:57:15 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 6:

That's crazy. Yeah. Thank God

01:57:17 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 3:

the guy got hurt. He would have been in their place with you.

01:57:20 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 6:

And he called the police on himself. So, yeah. What a crazy story. It was wild.

01:57:29 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

That's nuts. It is another New Music Friday. That is Do's You Can't. Next week on the show, Cash for Your Class, we're giving away $500 weekday mornings at 7.30 and 8.30. That's a lot of money, $500. and qualifying you for a Mojo in the Morning Show shopping spree where the show will take your family's children and you out back to school shopping with a budget of $2,500, $2,500.

01:58:06 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 4:

So school shoes, supplies, clothes, backpacks, whatever you need.

01:58:11 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 3:

And then at the end of this whole thing, like when all is said and done, And we're going to get you a check for another $2,500. And all of this is brought to you by Moran Automotive. I know Shannon, Brian Moran, is a good friend of yours and a good friend of the show. Thank you to him. Thank him for me, will you please?

01:58:29 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, he's the best of the best. And for, God, I don't even know how many years that he's been doing cash for your class. And we've been giving money. He's been giving money to teachers and schools and educators. And now parents and kiddos are on their receiving end this year. So it's going to be good. I think this year is the biggest year we've done this. It's going to be our best year.

01:58:49 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, listen, just to be honest, Brian helps out. He loves teachers, and he's really big on that. I know that his thing is, you know, pour it into the schools. The parents right now are struggling so much with the economy the way it is and all the price of everything going up. This is going to affect so many kids, and it's going to give them an opportunity to actually go to school and have what they need to be able to do it. And I hate to say this, I think the school supplies are very important. I think more important is your self-esteem when you put on something that you know is new and feels good.

01:59:25 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 5:

Just for you, not a hand-me-down.

01:59:26 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and you don't feel like a kid that doesn't have something, you know what I mean? So, I mean, our kids are blessed. We are very, very lucky that our kids are blessed. But we all have probably in our lives either been in a situation or known somebody that's been in a situation where the kids didn't have that. And I will say this to you, that there was nothing worse than that kid in school who felt like he was different than everybody else. So, all right, we're bringing in some sales people from the radio session. We got some new sales people that are here, some fine people. Who are you guys? I won't say new.

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 5:

You're not new. Well.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 4:

How long have you guys been here? How long have you been back working?

02:00:03 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 3:

Week three right now. Week three.

02:00:06 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 5:

But you were here before.

02:00:07 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 3:

I was, yes, Shannon. We've met at a Paul Corvino party back in the day.

02:00:10 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 5:

Back in the day. Yeah, I recognized you. I was at that party.

02:00:14 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 4:

And then you moved, what, to Florida, right, or something like that? Yeah, we moved to Florida for a couple of years. Took another job with somebody else?

02:00:20 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:00:20 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 4:

All right. Tell everybody your name and how they can get in touch with you if they want to advertise.

02:00:26 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Kevin Finney. and just reach out to me, Kevin Finney, at iHeartMedia.com or look me up on my Instagram, I guess.

02:00:33 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 4:

What do you specialize in? Anything specialty? I know that sometimes people like to go for certain advertisers, certain types of people.

02:00:40 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. Well, right now I'm most interested in the multi-market opportunities that we've got going on, so trying to get in some big national accounts right now.

02:00:48 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. I like it. And everybody, who is this lovely lady?

02:00:52 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, I am Simone. Go, God.

02:00:54 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 4:

I like it.

02:00:55 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Shannon.

02:00:58 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 4:

Simone, where did you come from? Where did you come to I Heard from?

02:01:02 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

Cumulus, actually, in Ann Arbor. Hello. Hello. Welcome, welcome.

02:01:07 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 4:

Cumulus in Ann Arbor. I mean, what did you have? Did you have like a station or two to sell out there? Four. Four stations. Okay. And I didn't even know Cumulus had their own division in Ann Arbor of all places.

02:01:19 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we were rocking it. I mean, they still are, but, you know, I'm here now, so.

02:01:22 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 4:

I like it, selling advertising. Do you have good advertisers there that you're going to steal from Cumulus? We've got to tell them.

02:01:27 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 2:

We can talk about that in four months.

02:01:29 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 4:

I like it. How do people get in touch with you? How do they get ahold of you?

02:01:32 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, they can email me at Simone Goga. It's S-I-M-O-N-E-G-O-G-A at iHeartMedia.com. They can also call me.

02:01:42 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 4:

You need to get the email Sales Simone or something like that. So it's easier. You know what I mean? It's easier. Sales Simone. Yeah. Simone Sales. And by the way, and can I say something? If you ever listen to this show and you think to yourself, you know what? I hear them talk about all these other people. It does huge for their business. And if you would ever want to advertise, I will personally pass your information on to these guys. And I'll even come out. Shannon, Kev. Absolutely. We'll all come out and we'll visit your business and do it. But you can email me, mojo, at iheartmedia.com. And I would love to try to help these guys out. But also, honestly, we want to make you part of our family. And our main goal is, and I know this is interesting because we're going to be playing some commercials here in a second. Please don't be mad at me. But those are the people that help us pay our bills. The people who advertise, our goal is to make them rich. And the main goal of making them rich is to give you somebody that's going to treat you right, sell you something that's going to be dependable or something that's going to be honestly affordable is probably a big thing that a lot of people want. And through us, I always say you're a friend of the show when you're a friend that knows. So we will give you an opportunity, if you do advertise, to be superstars, like the people that do advertise that you'll hear in a second. I'm going to talk about Xfinity. Kevin's going to talk about Total Wireless. Shannon's going to talk about the Sam Bernstein Law Firm. I mean, you can be just like these guys. It's funny. Somebody said to me the other day, the business owner, and they said to me the other day, they go, you know, I bet it costs billions of dollars or something like that to advertise on your show. And I'm like, I have had friends that have literally had a budget of $5,000 or $10,000 that started with that, and then now our advertisers are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars every quarter or something like that. Don't talk yourself out of it. All right, we'll be right back with more. You guys hang out so you can see what we do. Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

02:03:36 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 5:

So more on what Lil Nas X was doing before we saw him wandering around the streets of L.A. in his underwear. Got the latest on that story coming up in the Dirty.

02:03:47 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 2:

It is. Shannon's dirty. Is Shannon pretty dirty? A Dirty 30? Yeah.

It is officially moving season and also cuffing season, I understand, too. I don't even know.

02:05:00 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 2:

what cuffing is. I always hear that all the time and I go, it's got to be dirty. I don't think I partake in that. Do you know what that is? Is it good? Is cuffing season? Is it a good thing?

02:05:08 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 3:

Is it like... It's not a dirty thing. It isn't? No. It can be.

02:05:12 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Man, oh man, it feels like yesterday was Monday and now it's actually Friday. I feel like I've literally just pulled into the radio station and said, Shannon, what's going on? What happened over the weekend? How was it? And now it's like we got a weekend ready. God, please make this weekend be slow. I want to enjoy it. I want to savor it. I want it to be, you know, you know that meal that you have where it's like there's 28 courses. Like you just keep on eating and eating and eating. Like Thanksgiving maybe or something. You know what I mean? I want a Thanksgiving weekend. That's what I want. I like that. All right. So Shannon's got the last dirty of the week. And then the last 40 minutes of this show, we're going to phone it in. Go ahead, Shannon. What's going on?

02:05:59 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 3:

OK, so we keep talking about this Lil Nas X story and how he was found wandering the streets of L.A. in underwear and cowboy boots. At one point, he had like one of those orange construction cones on his head. But that incident was a ruin like 15 hours prior when he was spotted wandering through an L.A. hotel, like went into the lobby, got some water, went into the courtyard, sat there and talked to himself. He was fully clothed. He was all by himself. All by himself. He was fully clothed at that time. And then, you know, come nighttime, he was spotted walking Ventura Boulevard, very famous street in L.A. Witnesses saw him, called police to report his erratic behavior. And when police arrived, he allegedly punched one of the officers in the face. So that's why he was arrested, taken to jail. Actually, he was taken to a hospital for evaluation first because there was some suspicion that maybe he was suffering from some sort of overdose. So we still don't really have many details, but it was, people were filming them.

02:07:05 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Where at? You know where it's at. Go ahead, babe. Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Go ahead, babe. Na, na, na, na. Didn't I tell you to put the phone down? Uh-oh, somebody's going to have to pay for that.

02:07:22 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

just like in his own world doing his own thing

02:07:28 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 1:

yeah he said he was going to a party

02:07:31 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 3:

he kept telling people who were trying to talk to him that he was going to a party but this is one of the things that he said

02:07:36 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 1:

oh is that just a replay of that

02:07:43 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 2:

or is he still doing it oh wow yikes little Nas X not coming to Jingle Ball this year i don't think so i'm guessing we're not gonna have him on the list although you know what he

02:07:56 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 3:

may be good by then who knows millie bobby brown 11 from stranger things and her husband jake bongiovi are officially parents the newlyweds revealed they've adopted a baby girl sharing that news on social media keeping a lot of the details private for right now including the little lady's name but fans do know uh millie said in a few interviews recently that she wants house full of kids so i'm sure there will be more and you guys remember when all those sex toys were being tossed onto the courts at wnba games it like happened like four or five times well

02:08:28 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 2:

and ohio man what i still think it's a wnba setup that these guys did it just to get themselves in

02:08:36 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 3:

the press well they arrested somebody guy from ohio 32 year old charles burgess was actually seen pulling the object from his pants and hurling it during the liberty versus wings game that incident specifically but did you know that that sex toy hit a 12 year old little girl in the head when he threw it so he is pleading not guilty he says he's gonna fight the charges but league officials are warning anybody if you are caught throwing objects at the court you will be banned for at least a year from any of these venues.

02:09:11 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Did you see that the Indiana Fever lost another superstar? Superstar is like the stretch. But yeah, yeah, she's out for the season. She's one of the NBA All-Star, or a WNBA All-Star. You don't like her because she's on the Indiana Fever and you hate those guys.

02:09:28 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't hate them at all. I just think there are other players out there that deserve their names in our minds than her. But I will say this, though. They do now because she's hurt. She talked crazy about the Pistons, or excuse me, Detroit, possibly getting an expansion team for the WNBA, wondering who the hell wants to go to Detroit. So that's more so where my anger comes from with her. But, you know, she has a podcast, so, you know, this injury will give her more time on the mic.

02:09:51 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of podcasts, you can catch up from this week.

02:09:54 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Of course. Go ahead, I'm sorry.

02:09:55 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 3:

All of this week's Dirties by checking out the free iHeartRadio app.

02:09:58 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Do you get happy when certain...

02:10:00 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 1:

players that you don't like. Never, never. You never want to see a player go down. Besides the Paige Beckers, bruh, nobody talking about her. She's just around 44. Like LeBron getting old and just being so bad now. I mean, he's old, but he's still 6'0". At Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Ah, it's time now for us to talk a little bit more. I like this. This is where I get to do the best stuff ever. And that is talk about nothing. That's kind of our show. Somebody asked me that question. They're like, hey, the Seinfeld show, wasn't that the show that was about nothing? I said, if you thought that show was about nothing, this show is about really nothing right now. What's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. I want to ask you guys a question and tell me if you guys think that this is something that I should push on or not push on, like lay back on. So yesterday I golfed with a guy, and I have a very good friend that took us golfing. I was talking about that on the air the other day. I remember we just had a baby. Great guy, took us golfing, and best buddy is with us golfing too. Met this guy, took pictures, by the way. You can see the pictures up on our Instagram and Facebook. Single guy in his 30s, very, very successful guy, does very, very well. Also a great guy, more so than doing very, very well. obviously not life is not about how much money you make but i'm sure as hell gonna tell you this it's a lot better to make money than not make money right i'm not mad at that so guy's a good guy and i said said to him i go hey so what's going on you like you know you're married you got a girlfriend whatever and he goes no i've been out of a relationship for a little bit i'm single whatever wasn't trying to push you know me to like introduce him to anybody or whatever because sometimes there are some guys that are like why do you got anybody single and i'm sitting there going, oh my God, I have got a girl for you. I was going to say, but you have somebody already in your mind. I have got a girl for you. And so I said to him, I go, hey, I got a girl that I think is great. I really think that you should meet her. I think she's single. Last time that I talked to her, she was single. I think that you two guys will meet each other. And I think that you guys will decide for yourselves what you think, but I think that you guys would be perfect together and if you're not perfect all it is is a dinner or something like that or coffee you meet somebody cool which by the way i think coffee uh dates i know you did it shannon or you know it was kind of worked for you and wes i think coffee dates suck because a coffee date to me is not is great because i feel like when you go into a place to go get coffee there's too much craziness going on in there like i think there's too much there's too much potential distraction i don't even like coffee i always say you take them on the first date to your bedroom there's nothing going on close the blinds whatever no so um so i said uh i said to him would you be open to this yeah no problem so i said all right let me show you her so i actually showed a picture of her

02:12:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

instagram what was his reaction he was like wow he goes man oh my god and actually said i you know yeah i if you set it up i'm i'm cool with it you think i said to him this was the thing that i got him was when I said this is a girl who I would kill to have as a daughter-in-law you know what I mean like you look at girls sometimes like Lydia to me I and by the way it wasn't Lydia so this is bad I'm here I am talking about this and I should be setting him up with Lydia but it was another person that I thought he'd be you know everything would be good with because of she's a little bit uh she's a little bit older than Lydia I don't know and also I always hate sending somebody up with somebody on the show and then it ends up turning into drama and talk fodder on the her so you say that but all right so what i hear you love sitting people on the show up so i text her and reach out to her to see what she thinks about it and i said to her hey i got this guy i really like him i want you to see him and i took a picture and i actually got a picture of he and i together and took a nice picture of him because the picture that's on our facebook page is us being goofy and stuff and i said in that picture uh he is in the picture yes so i said um i said I just want you to know that I really, really like this guy. I hear nothing but great things about him. My buddy says he's a really good guy, all this stuff. You know, gave the whole background check stuff. And she answers me back and she says, oh, my God, he really is good looking. But I just started dating somebody. Okay. So you're like, dang it. And I go, you just started dating somebody. And she says, yeah, just recently started dating somebody. And it sounded to me as if it was just went out on a date or just maybe went on a few dates with somebody. And I thought to myself, well, I just recently saw you and it wasn't that long ago, like maybe a month or so ago or however, six weeks ago. And you didn't have, you weren't dating anybody, or at least you told me you weren't dating anybody. And I'm thinking, okay, so what? So here's my.

02:15:00 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 4:

thing is the I just started dating somebody the okay yeah should I tell her but you gotta at least go out there and you know you know put your put your foot into you know here's the deal let him finish Kevin you don't always hear this a wise man by the name of Norman Schrutt told me don't always pick apples from apple trees pick peaches and pears and try you know uh i don't know try

02:15:33 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 2:

other fruits but maybe she really likes this guy that she's gone on a few dates with i understand and wants to be like respectful to him i got the guy okay but maybe she's got the guy already i got

02:15:45 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 4:

the guy that is the guy i'm telling you he's the guy he's he's seriously he's a great guy some

02:15:51 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 5:

Some people's idea of commitment starts earlier than the relationship.

02:15:56 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:15:56 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 5:

So she's committed to somebody during the dating phase. This is who I'm locked in on. Shit, he's seeing a missile.

02:16:02 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 4:

Here was her text to me. He seems so awesome and he's so handsome. I just started dating somebody and I want to be respectful to that situation.

02:16:11 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 2:

I love her.

02:16:12 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell you about him soon. That was exactly the thing.

02:16:15 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 2:

By the way, now I want to know who it is. Now I want to know too. I'll tell you about him soon. I know who you're talking about, but I want to know who the guy is. because it sounds like you know him.

02:16:23 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 4:

So basically, I want to say to her, eh, grab a little on the side. Ah, meet this guy. Eat a cake and eat it too. Yes. I feel, tell me what your thoughts are on this.

02:16:34 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 2:

See, I get where she's coming from. Literally this exact same thing happened to me. I went out on one or maybe two dates with Wes, and they were non-dates at this point. I didn't even know if I, but I had gone out with him, whatever. I had gone out with him twice. And a friend of mine named Jessica called me and said, I feel so weird doing this. I don't even know you that well, but I have a guy that I want you to meet. He is divorced. He's a dad, da, da, da, da, da. Would you be open to going out with him? And I said, no, I said, I actually just same exact thing. I've gone out with a guy a couple of times and I really just want to see where it goes. And if it doesn't go anywhere, I'll call you and I'll get his information. But I wanted to focus on Wes and I didn't want there to be outside people or noise.

02:17:20 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 4:

it won't make you it won't make you you know be somebody that's not respectful it's you know what i mean and honestly it might make the other guy more interesting right because you might say oh this guy that mojo likes is you know he's a dud it's also it's also stage of life too because i

02:17:35 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 2:

think and how old did you say i i know who you're talking about how old is she 30 i think so i think she's in her 30s this guy's 33 like when you're in your college early 20s like you'll date two

02:17:47 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 4:

three four people at a time that guy good looking guy yeah he's a good looking guy yeah got his smile got all his teeth got all of all of his teeth huh yeah oh yeah yeah and in good shape too an athlete he's like a hockey player guy you know like it looks like a you know he's he's built he looks like uh looks like a hockey player i don't know yeah i don't know but well so long and has an and he's got a membership to oakland hills country club come on i don't even have a

02:18:14 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 5:

membership to oakland hills country club what does that mean because i don't know what that is it's expensive all these country clubs sound the same to me that's like the premier club that is

02:18:21 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 4:

the number one club in uh the midwest that's where they had the rider cup the u.s open okay so you gotta have a little bit of money to be in there hosted me yesterday i was out there yesterday tearing that club up that club will never be the same i put more freaking it already burned to the ground once listen they yesterday was the last time that that place burned to the ground was the fire in that clubhouse yesterday i tore apart the grass it was so bad i was i was so bad i had to walk 18 holes i got 20 000 steps yesterday look at you you back uh courtney what are your

02:18:55 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 3:

thoughts on this one courtney hi good morning i think she probably knows how bad of a track record you have with picking people up so she's probably just lying and thinking Mojo doesn't know what he's talking about. If it was Kelsey, she would probably say yes, but aren't you horrible with that?

02:19:14 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm not great. You're right. I'm not great at this, but I'm kind of like a big brother dad to her. You know what I mean? And I think that I know what I'm doing. I wouldn't put any douchebag in her life. You know what I mean?

02:19:26 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 3:

I know, but big brothers and dads always give bad advice, too.

02:19:30 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

No, seriously, I trust. I trust in the people that I have, but you're probably right. That could be. Chaz, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

02:19:40 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing pretty good. How about yourself?

02:19:42 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Good, man. What's going on?

02:19:44 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 1:

I was just curious. When you said getting peaches and pears from apple trees, I just want to know where you're getting that tree from. You know what? Let's focus on the big thing here.

02:19:54 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Let's stop this thing. Get off her. Morgan. Hey, Morgan. What's going on?

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 2:

on how are you good how are you guys today good morgan what are you your thoughts on this one how

02:20:05 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 1:

do i convince her to at least go out oh i actually call that with a little different take on that okay if we're playing matchmaker i talk to you guys fairly often i wouldn't call us friends but i'm 45 single i'm a relatively decent fella maybe we're doing a matchmaker over here you know what

02:20:22 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 2:

morgan i am not in the business of trying to get you laid i have done that for too many of my guy friends over the years i i you know what my my biggest thing we'll do a singles party sometime again maybe maybe we'll do that pajama party-ish time okay yeah that's actually moved but now

02:20:39 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 1:

looking for the late like we're we're ready for relationship status okay so 45 years old you're

02:20:44 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 2:

ready to settle down you're enough already right is that what you're saying exactly yeah okay well coming up soon listen to us nobody's got advice for me i mean so what do you mean nobody has

02:20:54 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

advice for you because i want she already made up her mind no i want to say to her no you should well you don't get to do that i want to she gets to say what she wants to do it's look how pissed

02:21:06 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 2:

you are he's coming to the party tonight so he's going to come to the party is she coming i really like he's no she's not she's not coming to the party but but here's the thing i invite he's another one of the guys i just randomly threw out an invite to because that was the thing i feel bad again there's some people that are gonna be pissed but it was meant seriously this party Chelsea through was meant to say thank you to all the great people that work with us here and all the people that have advertised it was kind of a like a congratulatory to me in being inducted in the hall of fame but also then it was hey thank you guys for being so supportive of the show like all these great salespeople yes without them we're not anything right we you know listen I know the guys that work over at Cumulus those bastards are barely holding on to their lives right now You know what I mean? They're on a raft right now in the middle of the ocean.

02:21:52 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 3:

It's like Teddy.

02:21:53 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 2:

Jack. Where are you, Jack? So that was kind of how the party was set up. And then I met him yesterday, and I said, Nick, come on to the party. He's like, I'll come. What if I set him up with Lydia?

02:22:06 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 3:

I was just about to ask, bro. You started off by kind of saying that.

02:22:09 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 5:

See what I'm saying? He went from her to now me. Lydia. Why wasn't Lydia the first one?

02:22:15 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, you were my first choice of this. But I also thought that he might have been a little older than, you know, I don't know if you're, are you in the 33-year-old guys?

02:22:26 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 5:

No, probably not. You think that's too old for you, Lydia? Maybe, yeah. Maybe 32, 31. What are you? How old are you? I'm about to be 28.

02:22:33 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's perfect for you. So I thought Lydia, too. Lydia, tonight, are you going to be, like, really doing yourself up tonight?

02:22:40 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 4:

I saw her outfit. She's going to look hot. My outfit's cute.

02:22:43 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Lydia, you know, but then you got to make sure that Bianca doesn't ruin it and walk up until they go, hey, bro. How did she do that, Kevin? You can chill.

02:22:53 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 5:

No, I wouldn't do that to her. I'm good.

02:22:56 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to deal with that. Here's the deal. He's going to come. He's going to hang out. We're going to hang out. We're going to all party. Everybody's going to have fun. I got a couple of the guys that last week I hung out with did a little mushrooms with. They might have a little mushroom.

02:23:10 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 3:

I guarantee you're going to have a mushroom corner. Would you try that at all? I might do it in Vegas. I ain't going to do it tonight.

02:23:15 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, if you do shrooms, I will.

02:23:17 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

02:23:18 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 4:

Your mother is listening. Her mama going to do shows, too. My mom will be my driver.

02:23:23 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 2:

I got to be careful. I have a reputation, by the way. They may not allow me in the Radio Hall of Fame after this whole thing's said and done. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit.

02:23:34 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 3:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:23:47 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Shannon is convinced that there is a little bit of a drug dealing going on in this place.

02:23:56 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Have you guys ever seen, I'm naive, have you ever actually seen a drug deal happen?

02:24:00 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:24:01 - 02:24:01 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:24:02 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

Have you?

02:24:02 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 3:

I haven't until this. What has y'all thought of what a drug deal looks like?

02:24:07 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, money exchanging hands. Yeah. You know what I mean? Just like very close to each other. I watch Chicago PD, and usually it's somebody throwing a dime bag, which I always love. Is a dime bag actually a dime?

02:24:20 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

Does that cost you a dime? $10. I mean, back in the day, y'all talking like old school prices, though. Where were you around a drug deal?

02:24:28 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

This happened while somebody was working, and that's why I think my mind is blown a little bit, because it was a drug deal on the job. So Wes and I are kind of just loosely looking at houses. I've talked about this before. So we went to look at a house and the realtor who was the seller, like representing the seller, had said that we were the last showing of the day, which was awesome because we could take our time. We didn't have to rush. And towards the end of our appointment, Wes said, hey, I have to duck out. I have to take a team's call for work in my car. And we had driven separate.

02:25:00 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 1:

anyway. So it was fine. So he ended up sitting in his truck that was parked on the street for about, I don't know, half hour, 25 minutes after me and my realtor left. And as I was leaving the street, and this is one of those streets that does not have a lot of houses on it. So I see this, I'm going to say, interesting car and driver come down the street and they're like looking at the house and I can see them look at Wes and look at me. And it was just like one of those situations where I knew in my gut that something was off. So it kept going past, past me, but I definitely noticed it. And so when Wes got home, he said, Hey, did you see that car that went by as you left? And I said, yeah, well, apparently that car, the driver circled, came back a few different times, finally went up the long driveway to the house. The other realtor who represented the seller came out chatted with the person in the car something was exchanged and then the person in the car left and Wes was like I think I saw a drug deal happening in the driveway of this house while like he was you know doing a showing it was just a very interesting situation who was the drug dealer I well I don't know who the dealer was if it was the realtor the person in the car okay so but something was definitely exchanged and it was very interesting how it happened because the car kept circling i think probably waiting for west to leave is how i'm thinking about it in my head and west didn't leave he was sitting there on a call and he didn't want to be driving while on the call so he just sat there so the person in the car was finally like okay screw it i'm just gonna go and do whatever i need to do it's interesting or i'm making up a story in my head

02:26:41 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's it's funny that how your your head automatically goes best stories it goes to that that level where you start thinking yourself like what is going on around here like i always you write the script for whatever that situation is. But it kind of matches

02:26:57 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 1:

what I think happened. Yeah.

02:26:59 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

You can sell drugs on the job.

02:27:02 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 3:

I bought weed

02:27:03 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

before from a dude who was working at a sneaker store in Northland. He had the weed in the back. Really?

02:27:09 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 3:

Really? I couldn't believe it. What happens if the customer comes? How did you know?

02:27:15 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 2:

He said, meet us, meet me at blank blank in Northland. This is so many years ago. Meet me at blank blank. Came to Blank Blank in Northland, and he was selling shoes to somebody else, and he was selling weed to me.

02:27:27 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 3:

Is it weird buying weed from a guy that looks like a referee?

02:27:31 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 2:

No. It wasn't Foot Locker, though, because he was in regular clothes.

02:27:34 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:27:34 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 2:

But it was weird, though. Excuse me.

02:27:36 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 3:

I was kind of nervous. He's sizing me up right now. You know what's funny about this, about the whole thing happening? Shannon is right. Whenever I see, I profile situations. Yes. It's bad.

02:27:50 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yep.

02:27:51 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 3:

But I see situations where I think to myself, I'm like, it's got to be right. There's got to be like something going on like that, you know, and you instantly start thinking there's some kind of a legal thing happening immediately. That's your first thought. So are you moving into the drug office?

02:28:06 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 2:

No. Are you getting another realtor?

02:28:09 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 1:

This was not mine. My realtor was a friend of mine. But even she saw this happen and she's like, something was going down.

02:28:16 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because there's not a lot of houses on the market. Maybe he's got to, like, look for extra stuff out there to make money.

02:28:22 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:28:23 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Did I tell you guys about the house? There's a house that's by my house that was for sale. And I said to Chelsea, I go, this house would be a great house to, like, move into. You know, it's a cool-looking house and stuff from the outside, but it probably needs a lot of work. And I was asking questions of why it wasn't selling because all the homes are selling so fast.

02:28:43 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

02:28:44 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 3:

And a neighbor friend of ours, I saw him out at a restaurant by our house, and I said to him, I go, isn't it surprising that that house is not selling? And he said to me, he goes, did you hear about it? And he says, you walk inside, and it smells and reeks of some kind of drugs. And I guess the walls all had coloring, discoloring on it, that they were doing something. They were making drugs there. There was like nothing or something going on. God, that show was so good. Shelly, what's up? How you doing?

02:29:11 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. Happy Friday.

02:29:15 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Shelly?

02:29:18 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 4:

That was definitely a drug deal, and the realtor is using the houses to hide suspicion very poorly. But, yeah, that was definitely a drug deal, keeping the traffic away from their own house, not looking shady. People are supposed to roll up to this place and not their own home. Yeah, good eye. That was shady as heck. Definitely a drug deal.

02:29:38 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 3:

Do you think Shannon should call that real estate agent and say, give me this house for a lower price or i'm turning your ass in you know that's kind of a

02:29:48 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 4:

good thought except now that you know a bunch of shady people who do drugs or sell drugs and

02:29:53 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 3:

know that location so i would be looking somewhere else yeah it's funny because you wonder if you bought that house We'll be right back. you'd have the knock, knock, knock on the door late at night, people going, hey.

02:30:03 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 1:

He's not here anymore. That's right. I promise you. Exactly, like, hey, it's not the realtor. I bought this baby. Yeah, yeah.

02:30:10 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Shelly, what do you think the odds are that the real estate agent wasn't doing anything wrong but was looking at Wes in his car thinking he was doing something? Probably.

02:30:22 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, our sweet little Wes would never do such a thing.

02:30:26 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, he was thinking, And Wes is sitting in front of the house, and he's got some illegal thing happening in his life, you know?

02:30:35 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

No, Wes looks entirely too together for anybody to think such things of him.

02:30:39 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 3:

I always think when I'm making a phone call and I'm sitting in a parking lot somewhere making a phone call that people think I'm watching porn masturbating, you know? There was that one time. No. Take your pants on.
